All right, it's Mojo in the morning. A lot of parents are experiencing this right now. This is the time of the year where you find out that your kids are either very smart or maybe acting up or maybe not so smart. Who knows? I don't know. But you had parent teacher conferences yesterday.

I did. Yes. And I had Lucy's conference first. And Luce is doing awesome. Like, actually, her teacher made me cry just talking about how I think it's the best, one of the best compliments that you can get to hear that your daughter is joyful and brings joy to other people. And she's like, look at all of her assignments. They're all colorful. She's happy. Even if something's, you know, off in the class, she tries to bring a positive spin to it. And I'm so emotional, too, that she's going to middle school next year. And this was my last parent-teacher conference at this school for her. So, of course, I'm sitting there crying, but she's doing great.

To stop you for one second, that's incredible. That's a reflection on you and her dad that that's the case.

And that's what I said to her teacher. I said, you know, especially going back and forth between houses, you worry a little bit. So to hear that just made me so happy. Can we give some applause for Lucy? Yes, we can. Can we do that, please?

How about big applause? That's huge. How about concert screaming applause? Those are all Lucy's friends cheering her on.

All right, go ahead. And then I go downstairs to this classroom. Oh, no. And you know how, like, Mojo, you know this. Kev, you know this. When you're waiting for your turn to go into the classroom, usually they've got stuff displayed on the bulletin boards outside, and everybody did the same project, and you're trying to look and see which project is your child's. And I can tell right away that the one with the most minimal effort is my sweet little boy. But I go in and, man, do I have two totally different kids.

The one takeaway from Smith's conference is his teacher, who I love. And I'm like, it's parent teacher conferences. And they were like, yeah, but you really don't need to be like, they were basically telling me like, you don't need to do it. And then the opposite end of that one was Luke who also went to Notre Dame prep Marist Academy when he was in Marist Academy and the teacher didn't know who he was. Chelsea and I had to show her a picture of him to say, this is Luke, and she was kind of going through the thing and I'm like, actually, that's a win I said, hold on, that's a win

that was like one of those moments where it's like such a cool thing I used to, as a kid wait at home for my mom and dad to walk through the door, praying that they walked in with a smile on their face after parent-teacher conferences. Because our conferences were never day conferences. They were always, for some reason, at night when we were kids. Yeah. That I remember.

So it used to be 6 p.m. when people used to get off work. I used to be so scared going to parent-teacher conferences sometimes. My mom used to be like, dog, please, let's just not go. Because it's about to be LA and I don't want to get in trouble. I used to be bad. I used to get suspended a lot. Did you really? I got put out a couple schools. What?

Why does that not surprise me?

I don't know. I don't know if I can say this. Remember DX, the wrestling group, WWE? They used to have a group called DX, and they used to be green and black. That was like their outfits. Triple X was in it. China was in it, to be honest. Okay, okay. And they used to do this thing called Suck It, where after they would kick you or something like that. And I got double promoted in one school, moved to another school, and they put me in what was supposedly my new class of fourth grade. Within a week, they demoted me back to third grade. And it was these two girls that used to just tease me, third grade to third grade to third grade. and I just got fed up one day by the tennis court and was like, suck my hair. I just did that. I did the sign like 50 times. That was too much. Among other things, I got expelled.

long time okay so quick story back in so i feel bad for my parents right so i'm like typically a really good kid elementary school love to learn great third grade i started going to school without a snack because i started giving them away to other people who didn't have sex so i was still hungry so what did i do i decided to start eating paper about about three weeks later i got the whole class eating paper for our snack

so they had to call your parents and tell your parents about that it was right around parent

teacher conference so my mom thought they were gonna go in and have a great conference and then my teacher was very concerned that i started eating paper it tasted like salt so i thought

so when my son was in kindergarten we went to first time long time so we um i went to conferences he's in fifth grade now but i went to his kindergarten conferences and um i talked to his teacher we got great comments and all of the things and i was like you know what while i'm here let me let me clean out his desk and just make sure he doesn't have a bunch of crap in there and i pulled out a bag of grapes that i had packed for his snack and i was like oh great well i kept digging and i found about 20 ziploc bags full of grapes oh in his desk that he had been stashing since the beginning of the year and um i was like dude he's not eating these and he had asked me for grapes every day every day he asked me to pack him grapes and he wasn't eating them he was just stashing them and i looked at his teacher and i was like my kid is making wine and i was so embarrassed and i have been friends with his kindergarten teacher ever
