00:03:27 - 00:03:57 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:57 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is great to have you here. It's Wednesday. We've got five lies to tell your mom coming up this morning here on the show. It's a good one today. Coming up in just a little bit, hear Brandy call her mom to say that her husband is not the father of her child. Mom's reaction is priceless, especially when Brandy says, the baby belongs to her husband's brother. Yee, hear that this morning. Second date update coming up today. We got a major development, guys. Major development in our chance to get you to Saturday's game. An opportunity for you to go see everybody's favorite football team. Big development on our contest. Got a phone call late last night from the boss. and the attorneys. Details coming up this morning. I'll tell you about that coming up here. I'm going to do it this hour, so I'll do it maybe breaking in the dirty. as one of the first Dirty Stories. And then we got tickets to all kinds of good stuff. Post Malone Jelly Roll, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, a trip to Florida to give away, and lots of cash paying your bills and your rent this morning. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Well, look who's here. Look who's here.

00:05:23 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

Don't do it. Kev, let me tell you something. Today I woke up, I'm like, not feeling that great. I think I'm going to pull a cap and just text everybody half hour before the show starts and say, you know what? You know what? I'm going to stay home today. Half hour is generous.

00:05:37 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Half hour. He wasn't late. Let's just put it that way. By like a minute or so with his message that said, I, but go back. What is the, what was the message? It was a very.

00:05:49 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 4:

It was in all caps too, by the way.

00:05:51 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

It was an, is the word ominous? Is that what they call it?

00:05:54 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 1:

While you're looking for it, please, everybody listening, know that nobody on this show knew that you were not coming in except for mojo and lydia so we start our meeting i'm like where the heck's got he overslept again and they're like no two minutes ago he just decided he literally

00:06:07 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 3:

it it doesn't want to work today hold on a second where where is it lydia do you have uh it was at

00:06:12 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

5 40 yesterday 5 40 yeah wow so during our meeting yeah it was before the met the message

00:06:21 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 3:

basically was like not even uh longer than four words it was i am i am not coming in today or something like that or i'm taking i'm taking a day off let's see let's see something like that

00:06:33 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 4:

and no one if we're gonna point the finger if we're gonna blame anyone for this then we have to blame mojo why uh first off um first off i do apologize very unprofessional of myself to operate that way. It's crazy because two things happened the day before. First thing is I'm on the phone with Tony and we're having a conversation. And I tell Tony, one of my favorite Charles Barkley quotes is the best ability is availability because it doesn't matter how good you are if you're not there, right? Everybody, you talk about Michael Jordan being the greatest player of all time. It doesn't matter if he's got a 40 inch vertical, if he breaks his hand, he can't play. So it doesn't matter. So I have that conversation with Tony. And then to reveal to the listener, we have a meeting every week. And we talk about the show. We talk about things that are coming up, things we want to do, and, you know, kind of check in. In this meeting, I am not the topic of conversation. But randomly, Mojo leans back in his chair and says, hey, hey, hey, Kev, you look exhausted. You need a rest. You need rest. Now, how many people on this show can say that for somehow, some way, Mojo always either knows what's going on without anybody saying anything or he can speak something into existence? Yes. That's what happened.

00:07:53 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Did I speak it into existence or was it going on?

00:07:56 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 4:

No, it wasn't going. No, I mean, I was tired, you know, of course. Tired, but, like, not to the point where you come out and say, you need rest, you look exhausted, all of that, and then I'll wake up at 540 and I just don't have it.

00:08:06 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

I said what I meant by it. By the way, I would never say it to any women Because if I said it to a woman, they take offense. They think that you're saying basically that they're ugly or something. But I had said I saw Kevin at the game on Saturday. And his energy level, to me, he was faking it the whole way. Because he looked like he had been burning the candle on all ends. Because, you know, for those that don't know this, Kevin not only works for us and has the energy to literally be from start to finish upbeat. But he also does that in stadium for the Detroit Pistons. And then also tonight, you'll be at the Michigan State Spartans game, right? That's right. Spartans basketball. And then does countless other stuff with clients and things like that. But he just looked, and he's had a lot of personal stuff that's going on. He had to move, what, a day before Christmas or something like that?

00:09:00 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, basically.

00:09:01 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

And just ended a relationship, and he's a dad, and all this stuff. So, okay, so long story short, and he's got Ashley and Ashley, Ashley 1, Ashley 2, some

00:09:11 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

other girl that I don't know that's, that's like craziness, DMs, God, this guy's got everything

00:09:16 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 3:

in his DMs, so, so I said that to you, here's the email, by the way, the email that he sent, it was an email, it was official, it was an email, see, all caps, guys, I need to take today, it was two and then D-A-Y off with a space in between, two day off, so, but yeah, So that was it. But I will say this. I'm happy that you're here. I'm happy that you're well. The only other thing that I have to complain about with you, and it's not about even how you called or emailed me, Lydia, and Tony. And for those who don't know, Tony's our boss. Lydia's our executive producer. Was we text him to say, is everything okay? And he doesn't answer all day. Listen. Everybody texts you.

00:09:56 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

Not everybody. Tony Travato did. Yes. Lydia did. I did. Everyone on the email.

00:10:03 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 5:

Who did not text you? I mean, Zach, KP, Megan, Shannon.

00:10:08 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 6:

I normally do text you, but this, I was like, oh, you just needed it.

00:10:11 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 5:

Zach came in my ear and just said that he did not. He did not. And he says he doesn't care about you. He thinks that you're a...

00:10:16 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm a big person of, if you're going to call off that late, probably a family emergency. If you want to tell me, that's fine, but I'm not going to ask. I think it's good to ask.

00:10:24 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 5:

Well, I think it's also just concern of how are you? Are you okay? Because that's all I text. I said, are you doing okay?

00:10:32 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:10:33 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 5:

And that was it. So not necessarily do I need you to tell me, but I just want to make sure you're not in jail, too. I've got to be honest with you. Half the time that anybody on this show does anything, I was worried that there's legal ramifications. I just want to make sure that we've got every attorney that we advertise on this radio station up for grabs. Oh, hold on. Valerie wants to say something. What's up, Valerie?

00:10:57 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Kev. I called in when you were crying about the headphones. And I told them that you call in too much. You are always calling in. That is not true. Valerie, that is not true. Compared to everybody else on that panel. One thing, Valerie.

00:11:18 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 5:

Wait, can I speak up for you before you speak up? Please, please. I don't know where you get that he calls in too much. I have never thought that.

00:11:27 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 3:

How long have you been there?

00:11:29 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 5:

Almost two years. Yes.

00:11:31 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 3:

How many days off have you used?

00:11:34 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 5:

Who the hell are you?

00:11:35 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 4:

What is going on right now?

00:11:38 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, can I tell you something? We're allotted five sick days a year. I think Kevin's only, in the year and a half, has only taken one or two sick days.

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 6:

And they roll over all the time.

00:11:52 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we get vacation time. And Kevin, by the way.

00:11:55 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 6:

And a personal day and a spirit day.

00:11:58 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 6:

I probably, I probably, Valerie, may I speak?

00:12:02 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

I probably take the least vacation time of anyone on the show, Valerie. And one thing you said.

00:12:06 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, then I'll apologize, but it seems like you're always off.

00:12:10 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, look, we're not going to compare because comparison is the thief of joy. Yes, it is. And we're a happy group.

00:12:14 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, you, I apologize then.

00:12:17 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 5:

Valerie, one of the things we also, one of the things we have to go back to is your thing about yeah the last conversation we had was kev very upset that we do not get free headphones from iheart radio yesterday he was gonna get awarded free headphones until he didn't show up today so because he didn't show up today it's like wait can i can i say something else too because this is

00:12:38 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 6:

funny to me so we had a conversation last week mojo and lydia got very serious about everybody needs to be on time your butt needs to be in the studio at 5 30 we need to like really be aware of When we're here, da-da-da. Kev has been late and called off 10 minutes after our start time. Guys. Well, Kev just needs the rest. If that was any of the rest of us.

00:12:58 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Is he getting special treatment?

00:12:59 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 6:

We'd be having another meeting. Oh, yeah. I just want to make this very clear.

00:13:04 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, oh, oh, hold on. You better not speak, KP. Teacher's pet. KP, KP, you've taken days off because you had a nail break or something.

00:13:16 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 2:

That's not true. In fact, I only took two sick days last year, and I emailed Tony about those sick days. He's like, didn't you take more than that? I'm like, no, I only took two, and I had, like, the actual dates. And it's like, I feel like you guys think I take a million sick days even though I'm still in this building. It sounds like some people, it's like subjective sickness. Like, you get to pick who's been sick and who doesn't. It feels like, I don't know. It feels like you need to blow your nose. I was going to say, you sound sick. Please take a sick day. I did. I was sick last week, and I did not take a sick day because I get judged for taking sick days, so I came to work sick.

00:13:53 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 5:

No, no. You don't get judged for doing sick days. You get judged for others, but we'll talk about that later in the meeting after the show.

00:13:59 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

I get judged for taking my vacation days? Is that what you're going to say? No, never. You sound like a boomer. No. All right, enough, because I can't take calls when she's using the mic in here, so please.

00:14:12 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 5:

Valerie, let me ask you a question. Who is here the most?

00:14:16 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

who is here always that you always hear um you know what kp's there lydia's there only person i ever miss maybe because he's on air is cavy oh i got a name cavy cavy cavy hey val um i i actually

00:14:33 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 5:

i actually will say this yesterday was uh or two days ago was the anniversary of my uh heart surgery and i remember when you have to take heart surgery you have to take leave from the station and they wanted me to take leave. The woman called me up and she goes, do you know that you have 370 days of

00:14:50 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 6:

sick days? I just checked mine yesterday. I have 49 sick days. Save them, by the way. God forbid you need them. Isn't that insane?

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 5:

But that was, I didn't have to take any short

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 4:

term disability or do any of that stuff because they had so many sick days that were available

00:15:03 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 2:

if i ever have a child god forbid don't put that witchcraft on me ricky bobby i think i can take five months off wow that's great that's great valerie what was your question for kev you want to say something hey kev how many days you have left i'll get back to you valerie hold on hold on

00:15:21 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 4:

00:15:34 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 4:

00:15:58 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 2:

Valerie's doing too much. She's the one in the office nobody wants to deal with. She's the Karen, because you are my business too much. My PCO.

00:16:04 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love being a Karen, honey. I love it. Love it, love it, love it.

00:16:09 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 2:

I will wear that bag proudly. She's the one that comes up to your desk and says, like, so you are okay. I don't have a desk, honey. I don't wear a desk. I don't have a desk. I go to work, and I'm on the floor every day. Wah, wah, wah, wah.

00:16:24 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 4:

Lydia, we got to make Valerie a Misfit. A Mojo in the Morning Misfit. Valerie's got to be Valerie Misfit Karen. Oh, I love it. Love it. We got to pull that one.

00:16:40 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings back in the day.

00:16:42 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Zach, keep the wah, wah, wah. That's my new job. All right, we're going to give you a chance right now to go to our big show. This is the year that 82-year-old Holland Taylor and 50-year-old Sarah Paulson got married. What a couple.

00:16:59 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 2:

Were you always lesbian? No, Larry. What a blunt question.

00:17:05 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 1:

No, but I was about, I think I had my first relationship with a woman when I was in my very late 20s.

00:17:15 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Marvel's Ant-Man was in theaters.

00:17:17 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it grow, man? She left me. Oh. Yeah, my mom died, too. And my dad got deported. But I got the band. That's nice. Yeah, right?

00:17:29 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 4:

And the big song from Bruno Mars. What year was it? We'll set you up with those tickets. Back with your guesses. A chance for you to go to Post Malone and Jelly Roll. Shannon's Dirty. And big news. On Saturday's game, the Lions-Commanders. See you right back.

00:17:52 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Don't believe me, just watch. Hey, hey, hey, oh.

00:17:56 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 4:

You're smart.

00:17:57 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Prove it.

It's Mojo in the Mornings back in the day. What year was this?

00:18:27 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 4:

All right, all happened in the same year. What year was this? It was the year that 82-year-old woman, Holland Taylor, and 50-year-old woman, Sarah Paulson, got married.

00:18:40 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 2:

Were you always lesbian? No, Larry. What a blunt question. Why is that?

00:18:46 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 1:

No, but I was about, I think, I think I had my first relationship with a woman when I was in my very late 20s.

00:18:55 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 4:

I think everybody deserves an age gap like that, 82 to 50. Marvel's Ant-Man.

00:19:00 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's your girl, man? She left me. Oh. Yeah, my mom died, too. And my dad got the party. But I got the band. It's nice. Yeah, right?

00:19:12 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 4:

And big song. Bruno Mars. What year was this? Emma, what year was that?

00:19:19 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 3:

It was 2015.

00:19:21 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, Emma. There you go. What gave it away? Ant-Man. Ant-Man. That was, like, honestly, one of my least favorite of movies. Of the Marvel series? Yeah, the Marvel series. Yeah. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with tickets to go to the big show happening this weekend, Sunday at Little Caesars Arena. There's a lot of stuff going on in town this weekend, man. And there's so much happening between Pistons and Lions on Saturday and then the big show on Sunday, auto show happening downtown. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with that, okay? Have a great day.

00:19:56 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm so bummed about this because I was really looking forward to it.

00:21:31 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 3:

They said that we could injure or permanently injure a listener by doing that contest to try to win a chance to go to the game on Saturday. And they said that legally we cannot do it. So we've come up with a new contest, and we'll announce that at 7 o'clock this morning. So we'll announce it at 7 o'clock, the new contest of what you can do. 00:22:07 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so let's start with this. L.A. police have now arrested four people on arson charges for allegedly trying to ignite new fires as firefighters continue to fight the blazes that have taken the lives of 25 people so far. Who are these crazy people that are doing this? It's just awful. But, yeah, so four people arrested. This is L.A. Fire Chief Kristen Crowley giving an update yesterday.

00:22:30 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 1:

We're taking an aggressive lean forward posture and the LEFD has staffed all available resources strategically placing fire patrols and engines in the unimpacted high fire risk areas in the city.

00:22:44 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 2:

By the way, yesterday I saw Paris Hilton, who lost her own Malibu home in the fires, announced that her nonprofit, it's called 1111 Media Impact, raised $800,000 in emergency relief funds in just 72 hours, which is incredible. And she already gifted $150,000 of that to GoFundMe's Wildfire Relief Fund to provide 150 families with immediate cash assistance. I love her.

00:23:06 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 3:

Today, the winds are going to be 65 mile an hour plus. And they're saying that today is a day where they won't even be able to put those planes in the air. So it's not a good day for these fires. The fires, by the way, are stretching down towards San Diego, they're saying.

00:23:17 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:23:18 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 3:

That's how big this range is of fire.

00:23:20 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 2:

Kate Middleton said she is in remission from cancer and is looking forward to a fulfilling year. She thanked the staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital yesterday for her exceptional care. I think that's the same hospital that Princess Diana used to spend a ton of time at, like volunteering and giving back. But she said, I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to the new normal. And yesterday was the very first time that the Princess of Wales used the word remission to describe where she is on her cancer journey. Kanye West has finally reunited with his children after spending 118 days away from them. The rapper and his wife, Bianca Sensori, are currently in Japan with his three youngest kids, along with Kim Kardashian. I know that he's been traveling for much of the last six months, but he does have Saint Chicago and Psalm. with them. I had to think about that for a second. Who are the three? And lastly, fans and social media users helped get an Eagles fan banned over his over-the-top rant at a Packers fan during Sunday's NFC wildcard game. This video shows a man by the name of Ryan Caldwell. He's wearing a green Eagles jacket, and he is just berating this female Packers fan, calling her dumb and ugly, among a whole bunch of other things.

00:24:42 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 3:

Do we have that clip, by the way, Zach, or were you able to edit that clip down at all for that?

00:24:49 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

He uses a lot of curse words. It does. I mean, it's kind of bad audio anyway, but literally he's just screaming at this woman. It's scary. So this is where social media gets good.

00:25:00 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 4:

Because they were able to, people were able to identify both the abusive fan and the woman involved. And so the Eagles right away came forward and said, we're banning him from Lincoln Financial Field. So he can't come back. And then they hooked up the woman with a whole bunch of Packers gear. And then that, here's where it gets even better. That guy's employer, BCT Partners, it's like a consulting firm, excuse me, based in New Jersey. His employer said, okay, we're going to investigate what happened. And late last night, the company said he's fired. He's fired for his bad behavior at the game.

00:25:38 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 3:

By the way, can I tell you something? That's a typical Philly fan, though. I hate to say it.

00:25:44 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 4:

Lost his job and is banned from the stadium.

00:25:47 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Philly fan is a bad person. I mean, listen, they boo Santa Claus, for Christ's sake. But no, they're angry people. I don't know what the story is.

00:25:57 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 2:

I was in UPS, and I ran into a Philly fan, and we had a great conversation.

00:26:03 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 4:

No, but statistically, they beat more away fans in their stadium than any other team fandom does. It's crazy how wild they get in there. All right, for all of today's Dirty, get yourself all caught up by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app and MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:27:20 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 3:

That's the greatest. All right, Eric.

00:27:21 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 1:

He took a sick day yesterday.

00:27:23 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 3:

Did he? Okay. He wasn't the only one. Eric, I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area, but real quick, say hi to Angela.

00:27:30 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 1:

Hello, Angela. Good morning. Good morning, Eric.

00:27:33 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 3:

Here we go, 5 to 6.55. Good luck to both of you guys. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. The tie always goes to the champion. Question number one, Angela. Taylor Swift's team is reportedly in talks for a show in China following her wildly successful tour. What was the name of that tour? Say that again.

00:27:59 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Eras, the Eras tour.

00:28:01 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 3:

Question number two. Diddy says the freak-off tapes that are being used against him actually prove that he was having consensual sex with several women, including his high-profile singer ex-girlfriend. Who is she?

00:28:18 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh.

00:28:19 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 3:

Three seconds.

00:28:21 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Cassidy? I don't know.

00:28:23 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Question number two, or three, excuse me. The owner of Carrie Bradshaw's apartment from the iconic Sex and the City series is getting serious about keeping tourists away, and Iron Gate is going up. Name one of the three main female characters on that show. Just one of them.

00:28:44 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 2:

Samantha.

00:28:45 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 3:

Question number four. Justin Baldoni is asking Marvel to keep all evidence related to Ryan Reynolds and his nice pool character in wake of the drama regarding Blake Lively and her co-worker relationship. I'm sorry, Blake Lively and their co-working relationship on set of which recent film? Recent.

00:29:14 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 2:

Iron Man.

00:29:17 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 3:

And question number five, Capital One is being accused of cheating its customers out of billions of dollars Who is their celebrity spokeswoman? Hint, she's one of Ben Affleck's exes.

00:29:29 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer Garner.

00:29:30 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 3:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area.

00:29:34 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 4:

Got three out of five. That's what you're going up against, Eric.

00:29:38 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. Just like yesterday. Question number one. Taylor Swift's team is reportedly in talks for a show in China following her wildly successful tour. What was the name of that tour? The Aeros tour. Wonderwine. Question number two. Diddy says the freak off tapes that are being.

00:30:00 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 1:

used against him actually proved that he was having consensual sex with several women, including his high-profile singer ex-girlfriend. Who is she? Three seconds. Cassie? Cassie, yes. Do it a one. Cassie. Question number three. The owner of Carrie Bradshaw's apartment from the iconic Sex in the City series is getting serious about keeping tourists away. An iron gate is going to be going up. Name one of the three female characters on that show. Oh. Oh. Three. Samantha. Yes. Both of you guys said that. Good job. We just needed one. Question number four. Justin Baldoni is asking Marvel to keep all evidence related to Ryan Reynolds and his Night's Pool character in the wake of the drama regarding Blake Lively and their co-working relationship on set of which recent film? Deadpool and Wolverine. Just like last week. No. You gotta listen to the question better. It ends with us. That's the movie that those guys were in together. Yeah. And question number five. Capital One, and this is for a clean win. Capital One is being accused of cheating its customers out of billions of dollars. Who is their celebrity spokeswoman? Hint, she He is one of Ben Affleck's exes. I feel so bad for her. Jennifer Gardner. Yay! Winner! Boring winner! Boring winner, baby! Boring! Let's go! That's right. You gotta get that on a t-shirt. I told you. Hey, I'll wear it in. I'll wear it in. Some people, if I asked, who's the winner of the 5 of 655? They'd be like, who? That boring dude. Yeah, what about that? I don't know. What's that guy's name? Ain't nothing boring about winning. All right, Eric. Are the Lions boring, Mojo? We win the Lions. No, no, because they win in like a grit way, right? Oh, okay. I got to get more gritty. You know what you are, honestly? This is no offense, buddy. This is, I guess, offensive. You're like, what's his name? What's the guy's name? Kawhi. What's his nuts? Kawhi Leonard? Kawhi Leonard. You're like Kawhi Leonard. You're like the boring NBA player that's good. Yeah. You know what I mean? So maybe you need some controversy behind you. We're going to do a background check on you. We need a scandal. Yeah, that's what we need. Yeah. All right. I'll figure it out. I'll let you know. Tomorrow we'll see you another chance for you to play. Angela, we're going to give you four tickets to go to the Detroit Auto Show. You can get tickets for that, which is going to be heading for the next week or so, January the 20th at Huntington Place by going to DetroitAutoShow.com. You got them for free. and i hope your little angel feels better thank you so much i'll tell him all right take care

00:32:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

it's mojo in the mornings five is six fifty five i got to announce what our new contest is going to be for these you know opportunity to go to the the game on saturday uh the fifteen hundred dollar gift card for uh tickets to get to see the lions we'll do that in a little bit if you just missed that uh our lawyers told us we could not do the headstand contest they came in and they stopped us they gave us a cease and desist on this mojo in the morning uh we had an issue yesterday on our show uh that came up after the show was over with it actually came up later in the evening which is wild because i think that they were going through everything just trying to charge more hours to i heart but the i heart attorneys came through with a cease and desist on us doing a contest they told us that we had to get rid of the idea of doing the contest that we were going to do to give away a $1,500 ticket master exchange gift card to go be able to buy tickets to Saturday night's game. They said that the contest could potentially hurt our listeners. And I think that they didn't understand that our listeners want to get hurt. Like they, they want that opportunity. Like this is an opportunity for them to to you know win tickets let's like come on what kind of a fan are you if you don't want to get hurt uh but uh but i get it i understand and they gave all kinds of good excuses of you know why it would not be a good idea so we had to change that contest late last night so it is time now here on the mojo in the morning show for us to announce the new contest idea that we have for winning this from uh house of hummus which by the way i i would like to shout out the House of Hummus people because these guys are like seriously the nicest human beings ever. They're personal friends of Lydia. Lydia is actually going to be out. She'll be out on Saturday at one of their locations. I'll explain coming up here in just a little bit, but I got to say hey to Anthony and

00:35:00 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 2:

everybody over at House of Hummus. What was that, the hottie from House of Hummus' name that was in studio with us?

00:35:06 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

That would be Amanda.

00:35:07 - 00:35:13 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to Amanda. Man, she was great. She brought a bunch of food in for us. The food was banging.

00:35:13 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, if you guys are bored today, we're here. I know.

00:35:18 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 2:

We need a House of Hummus in Eastern Market.

00:35:20 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 1:

So good.

00:35:21 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 2:

So here we go. So this is the contest right now. This is a chance to win this $1,500 Ticketmaster Exchange gift card. It's something that is a little less physically grueling to do. If you would like to win Friday morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show in still honor of Amaran St. Brown, we are dyeing your hair blue for the Lions.

00:35:49 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 1:

Which Kev wants to do anyway. Are you doing it? I think Zach's doing it.

00:35:53 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 2:

If we get to the Super Bowl, I'll dye it blue. Not before then, though. So you're not that big of a fan, I guess, huh? You won't have that hair for each? You're not going to work me in that. What, are you hoping that they don't go to the Super Bowl? That's why you're doing that?

00:36:05 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 1:

And we're talking permanent dye. Yes. This isn't spray or like chalk.

00:36:10 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 2:

Come on.

00:36:10 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 1:

It's permanent.

00:36:11 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

I think you should do it. I think you should do it. I'm standing by what I said. I'm doing it if we go to the Super Bowl. All right, so here's the deal. When we go. Here's the story. If you want to go to the game, you got to dye your hair blue. You got to go blue to go to the game. Go blue or go home. That's right. Honolulu blue. So if you want to be part of this contest, we want you right now to do this. Call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Here's the story, though. With the other contest, you had to do the headstand. This contest, and I don't know if the attorneys are going to say, what do we do about people that don't have hair? If you don't have hair, you can't be in the contest. Because if you don't have hair, we can't dye your hair for this one. So it's impossible. so here's the story you got to have hair to do this thing 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i think this this one honestly is a bigger deal than doing the headstand because you're going to be seen people are going to see you and i don't know how long this dye is going to be in your hair but i'm guessing that that dye is going to be in your hair for a long time and uh you know what it should be right because you you're going to win tickets to go to what some are saying are you doing this story in this dirty at all, or can I tell that story?

00:37:25 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 1:

You can tell the story.

00:37:27 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 2:

This ticket, by the way, has now become the richest ticket in sports. The tickets for Saturday's game. They're saying that the game between the Lions and the Commanders is the most expensive game in NFL history. That's crazy. With crazy prices of tickets for certain seats. I can do the prices if you want. Yeah, give some of the prices. These are from the good seats.

00:37:51 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 1:

On TickPick, The average purchase price for the game, average, $980. The lowest game in price for the Detroit-Washington game, which I think they're all gone as of this morning I checked, was $460. I think now it's back up to $581. The most expensive seats can be found in Vivid Seats where you could purchase a lower level, Section 128 seat, one ticket for $6,105. And by the way, this is a fun fact. Each of the top three most expensive non-Super Bowl NFL games have all been played at Ford Field.

00:38:25 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 2:

Unreal. By the way, be careful. She said tick pick. If you do it differently, you're on a porn site. So be careful. That's on you. Richie. Don't use your word computer. What's up, Richie? Hey, how's it going? Good. You got hair? Yes, I do. Would you dye it blue? Would you go blue to go to the game? Absolutely. I love this guy.

00:38:48 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love this guy.

00:38:50 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're not going to go that far. Don't worry about that. We're not dying skin. We'll get ourselves into trouble later for a contest like that. All right, hold on one second. Lydia's going to get your information, bud. We appreciate you. Oh, my God, Danielle, you've got beautiful hair. You'd be willing to do this?

00:39:07 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 3:

I will.

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Can't you get, like, your husband or boyfriend to do this thing?

00:39:12 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes, because the tickets would be for them. Can I switch spots after the call? Can you do it instead?

00:39:19 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Talk to Lydia about that one. I seriously, this is, you know, this is going to be permanent dye. This is going to be dyed just like you would be probably, I don't know, do you dye your hair right now or are you a natural?

00:39:31 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 3:

I do actually quite expensively, to be honest. Oh, my God. But it's very hard to get out to. For the Lions. For the Lions. It'll grow out. It'll grow out.

00:39:41 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 2:

You know what? You're a true blue fan.

00:39:43 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 3:

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, you know. Wait a second. You can't wash it out?

00:39:48 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 2:

No, it's permanent.

00:39:49 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 3:

That's what I just said.

00:39:50 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 2:

It's in your hair. I don't know what that means. It's in your hair until your hair grows out.

00:39:53 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

It'll fade. Permanent? No. No, no. I've had blue hair for years. Blue is the hardest to get out out of all of them. Is it really?

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 4:

It really is.

00:40:01 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 1:

Kev.

00:40:02 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 4:

I have a good hairdresser.

00:40:03 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that. Think about this, Kev. You're going to get your hair dyed. You can't just do, like, food coloring or something like that.

00:40:10 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 2:

That's what I was thinking. Like, when you said permanent and then you made the distinction between that and spray, I'm like, okay, yeah, it's not spray.

00:40:16 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 1:

I didn't think it was, like, in there, in there. You got to do it just like Amonron, who does, you know?

00:40:22 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm still locked in.

00:40:23 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Tawny? Are you there, Tawny?

00:40:26 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 4:

I am.

00:40:27 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 1:

You want to do this, too?

00:40:28 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 4:

um no so i'm actually volunteering my father does he know this yet we just talked about this like two days ago i was like hey dad you ready to dye your hair he did it last year as well and he was like yeah let's get it done so this was perfect does dad have hair or has he lost his follics so he he doesn't have as much as he once did but he does have hair it's gray so the Blue latched on really nicely.

00:40:55 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 1:

Interesting.

00:40:56 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Are we allowed to nominate other people, though?

00:40:58 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's controversy. Lydia, what happened?

00:41:00 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, she's got to get that guy on. She's got to get his agreement on the phone, so that's going to be the thing. But all right, hold on one second.

00:41:06 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he's agreeing.

00:41:07 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 1:

He's agreeing. Or he'll lose a daughter. All right, hang on one second. Again, you can call right now. We'll do five lies. Tell your mom. You can call Lydia right now, and she'll get you in for this contest on Friday. and then we'll pick listeners for an opportunity to win tickets. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. You want to get on Five Lies, tell your mom. You want to have some fun and scam your mom and have some great audio to play, text MOM to 95500, and then do us a favor when you text. Give us an idea of what it would be that you would lie to your mom about to get her all riled up. Text MOM to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:41:47 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:41:48 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 1:

All right, Ashley, are we ready for Five Lies to Tell Your Mom?

00:41:57 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am.

00:41:58 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 1:

Your son looks exactly like your husband, I understand, right?

00:42:04 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 3:

Yes, they're practically 20.

00:42:07 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but your husband also has a brother, right?

00:42:10 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes, he actually has two brothers.

00:42:13 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, good. Okay, here we go. We're going to do Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. We're going to make your mom believe that your son is not your husband's, but his brother. Here's five lies to tell your mom. You're going to say, number one, lie number one, mom, I messed up. Lie number two.

00:42:29 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Say, I took a DNA test on me and the kids.

00:42:33 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three.

00:42:35 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 2:

I did it through Ancestry.com.

00:42:37 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 1:

By the way, not a sponsor of the show. We just threw that out there. Lie number four.

00:42:42 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 2:

It says our son, Caden, is not my husband, Collins.

00:42:46 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 1:

And line number five, it says that Caden belongs to Colin's brother, Josh.

00:42:54 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's going to lose it.

00:42:57 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Who's the better looking brother, Colin or Josh?

00:43:02 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 3:

Colin definitely got all the looks in the family.

00:43:06 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Let's just hope that Josh is not listening, but that's okay. All right, we ready for five lives to tell your mom?

00:43:13 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:43:14 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 1:

All right, speak up nice and loud.

00:43:16 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:43:17 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go.

00:43:31 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello? Yeah? Okay, I really need to talk to you. Okay. Okay, so I messed up real, real bad.

00:43:45 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:43:48 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

So I used Ancestry DNA, and I did it on me and the kids because I thought it would be cool. Uh-huh. But when I did it, it says that Colin's not Caden's dad. Oh, no. It's his brother Josh. Nuh-uh. You're lying. Yeah, and I don't know what to do, because Colin has the login to the ancestry thing. I don't know. Oh, my God. I don't know. I didn't know that this would ever be a problem for you. I didn't think that, I didn't even think it was a possibility. Like, it was one time super long ago.

00:45:00 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 4:

I didn't even think, but, like, Mom, I need your help. Mom, I'm seriously freaking out right now. I bet. I don't, what am I supposed to do about this? I don't, I don't know. I have no, I don't, I don't know. I don't, I don't know. I need more than I don't know, Mom. I know, you got me, I don't. I don't, I don't know, sweetheart, that's, because I've never had nothing, I've never had to come across nothing like that, that's, that's, that's, I mean, you're going to have to say something if he's going to look at it anyways, you have no choice, right? What am I supposed to say to him? The truth? Yeah, I slept with your brother. My bad. I don't know. Is this a trick? Are you tricking me? Is this like a...

00:46:02 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 2:

When you think that it's a trick, what kind of trick are you thinking that she's pulling on you?

00:46:13 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I love my child right now. exactly exactly what the trick is right oh my god what what trick is it tell us you guys

00:46:26 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 2:

hey don't call us tricks mom it's mojo in the morning and you've been scammed on five lies

00:46:34 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 1:

to tell your mom congratulations i am glad this is not a real life scenario because you were of zero help to your child.

00:46:41 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I wouldn't know what to do. I don't know. Oh, we know you don't know. Oh, my God. Mom,

00:46:53 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 2:

you just got a prize. Congratulations. We got one for you.

00:46:58 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Oh, my God. You got me shaking. Don't do that. It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mama.

00:47:09 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo on the morning show. Shannon almost died for a Dyson. I like this. By the way, for those of you who don't know, what is a Dyson?

00:47:22 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm not talking about the vacuum cleaner, because there are lots of different Dyson products, okay? There's like a Dyson air purifier. There's the Dyson air wrap. This is the Dyson.

00:47:31 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 2:

This is not a commercial for a Dyson. This is not.

00:47:33 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

No, by the way, the Dyson vacuum is crap. Don't waste your money on that. Get the melee. But, yeah, get the melee.

00:47:38 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 2:

It's probably not a commercial for a Dyson.

00:47:40 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no. Okay. But if you've been listening to this show for the better part of two years, you know that I have been longing for and dreaming about the Dyson hairdryer. Now, my 10-year-old daughter has one at her dad's house. Not fair. Okay. And she's had one for a couple of years. So I've been, like, trying to coerce her into bringing it to my house so that I could share it with her. That's part of child support. Yeah. That has not happened. Okay. These things are expensive. I'm not paying full price for one. I'm not paying for one. And and then I talked on the air a couple of days ago about how I went on vacation over the Christmas holiday and there was a Dyson in the hotel room that I stayed in. And I was like, I wonder if I just took it, if they would charge me less than the actual retail price. And it didn't have all the accessories. No, but I wanted one so bad. Yeah. So yesterday after the show, I got a DM from a listener named Laura that I just so happened to see and open and read. And she heard my topic. She's been hearing my topics about this damn Dyson hairdryer. And she said in her message to me that she had gotten one for Christmas two years ago. She loved it. But then she got the air wrap for Christmas from her husband this year. She got the what? The air wrap is like it's like it curls your hair, too. okay it does all the things it makes you tan and skinny and does your hair it

00:49:02 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 2:

does everything they should think again about that name that sounds like a name

00:49:05 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

that could get you canceled yeah well so she said to me in her message she didn't need to so she offered to sell me hers for a fraction of the price that it's on sale for at the store right now so I was in immediately I mean I ran out of the studio went to tell Lydia Lydia knows like how bad I want this dice and I was so excited. So she sends me her address and I realize she, it was very convenient. She lives not even five minutes from, she actually lives like right across the street from my mom. And so I was planning on stopping by while I was out running all of my errands yesterday afternoon. Well, I pull onto her street and I'm going to pull into her driveway and my stomach gets this pit in it. And I thought to myself, you are dumb, Shannon. like what if this girl is not real what if this girl is not even a

00:50:00 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 4:

girl and this is just all allure to get me to some random person's house and then they're gonna rob me or jump me or kidnap me or kill me and truly i thought to myself i was like you are such an idiot and you're doing this for a freaking hair dryer well how much money were you truly okay a lot like hundreds of dollars right worth it so i'm sitting in the car i am sitting in my car and she can corroborate the story i'm sitting in my car in her driveway and i'm like dumb dumb you are stupid like what are you doing this is so not safe whatsoever and then i'm like screw it i want this so bad i'm here so i look up okay i'm already in her driveway at this point i look up to get out of my car and she's standing right there next to my car door with the box for the hair dryer she i'm not joking and laura i hope you're listening right now first off she's the sweetest she's also i think the most beautiful listener i've ever seen in my history with this show so oh now i hate her she gives the deal to you and she's high and she's high yeah and very normal did not did not you know you gotta watch out and drag me into her house i am here today and very fine okay that was so nice and i have the hair dryer i'm so jealous all right so here's the

00:51:17 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 2:

the thing that i would love for calls on this one what could have happened to shannon has anybody ever done like facebook marketplace or whatever what are the other ones uh craig's craig's list was you want to know what happens on craig's list people chop off your toes or suck them

00:51:38 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 3:

one of those two they do something with them but it's either one or the other

00:51:43 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want you to give shannon the horror story of what could happen so she doesn't now become addicted to going to people's homes and buying things because i think that this is actually one of those deals where i've heard people that will say that they don't even know if they they would trust selling something if they didn't do the pickup like

00:52:09 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 4:

in a parking lot of a police station so i do i have like a two different facebook groups that i'm a part of that it's strictly my neighborhood so you have to be invited by somebody that lives in the neighborhood i do that one all the time that but that feels very safe to me because you can see who your mutual friends are you know it's it's legit this was thank god she was normal

00:52:30 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 2:

yeah and female uh khalid what's up it's mojo in the morning let me kill too good morning yeah What could Shannon have had happen to her if this woman was a crazy lady?

00:52:43 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so anything, really. She could have.

00:52:48 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had it? Have you ever tried to sell? Have you ever sold anything and had something happen?

00:52:54 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so back when the iPhone, I believe, six or seven came out, I got the new one, so I had my old previous one on sale. And so I posted on Craigslist and met the person. They got in the car and they were checking it out. And then they took off running with it.

00:53:15 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 4:

So you didn't get paid for it?

00:53:17 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my. They didn't pay for anything. They were just like, can I see it? Check it out. They grabbed it and took off. Went into the towers and I couldn't get in because I didn't have a code. Oh, yeah.

00:53:34 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

So it was in front of that. What towers was this? Where was this?

00:53:38 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 1:

This was off, like, 10 Mile and Southfield Stateway, I believe.

00:53:42 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, but no offense to anybody that lives in the towers over there. I don't even know if I'd pull over to pick up a friend that lived over there. I'd be so worried. The Regal Towers? Yeah. Can I be quite honest with you? Was this day or night?

00:53:57 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 1:

this one like uh sometime in the afternoon okay all right at least there was daylight

00:54:06 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 2:

that that's craziness when people do it how about the people that say that they want to get in your car with you yeah yeah i'm not letting you in my car this is kind of like the whole megan thing picking up a stranger i'm not giving rides to people what's up melissa hey guys um so i was

00:54:21 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

looking for a monitor for my son for his pc he had um he was cleaning his desk off and he broke it So I was on there, and it ended up being, so when I met up with a person, I thought it was a house. I couldn't find the address, and it ended up taking me to a gas station, and I kept messaging the person, and I was like, hey, you know, I'm here. Is this where I'm supposed to be meeting you? And it ended up being my son's father, who I'm no longer with. They've been together for years, an enemy of his that, I mean, even since high school, they, like, hated each other. It was like his heart's nemesis, and his Facebook name was under a different name. It didn't even have a picture of him. I did recognize him, and I was, we both said.

00:55:00 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 1:

of just like stood there because he knew who i was as well and we both just kind of stood there and he's like well do you still want to buy it and i was like well i that i mean that's fine with me i don't know how he's gonna feel when my son tells him if i ever tell him the story my son's 10 so i didn't tell my son or anything we did what a coincidence yeah that is wild at that point if

00:55:21 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 6:

he was like an enemy of my husband's i'd say i don't love my husband you know what i mean like Like, I would make him think that you just didn't want to get killed. What's up, Amber? How you doing?

00:55:32 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 3:

Hey, first time long time. Hey, Amber. So, I'm a teacher, and I used to teach in Tennessee, and I had a student who was in college. They had moved on, but they were selling an Xbox on Facebook Marketplace, and they got robbed in their parking lot, and they were shot, and killed over, like, an Xbox.

00:55:56 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Oh, that's so tragic. That's awful.

00:56:02 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 3:

So, super glad that you are safe, Shannon, but I buy stuff off of Facebook Marketplace all the time, and I don't really go through that in my head, but definitely glad that that ends up being a good situation. Wait, you still do that,

00:56:13 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 6:

knowing that a student had this happen to them?

00:56:16 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but, I mean, it's, like, little stuff. I'm not going out and, like, selling electronics or anything big like that.

00:56:22 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 6:

Wait, it doesn't make a difference how little it is.

00:56:24 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 3:

it still potentially could happen that's yeah yeah definitely scary careful amber that's

00:56:31 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 6:

very scary ellie what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hi first time long time

00:56:36 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 4:

so uh this is like back in 2018 i sold a really old jeep on facebook marketplace or craigslist and the person sent me a check in the mail to mail it over a few states and the check was a fake check but the bank approved it and everything and um i was out a few thousand dollars a few weeks later no because if the bank approves it that's on them right i know right they shut my account down but then a few years later i actually got a check in the mail for um you know they approved that it was fraud and not my fault oh okay that's good wow uh brian you got robbed over

00:57:17 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 2:

a ps5 yes i did so it was back during covid when you couldn't get any like all the scalpers had them and they were selling them for ridiculous amounts yeah i found on craigslist um one that was going for 600 and i drove all the way to gary indiana i should have knew better and he had to meet him at a uh at a liquor store and he yeah and gary he put it dumber than me i'm very dumb and he put yes five in the window showed me that it was all legit it was all in there as soon as i cashed half the money he took the uh box right out of my car oh my god At least you're safe. I went to the police station. The police station had windows broken out. I knew I wasn't getting no help.

00:58:11 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 6:

By the way, my favorite are the people that buy something, and there's, like, rocks inside of the thing because the person scammed them. Tammy, what happened to you?

00:58:23 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 5:

First time, very, very long time. Oh, Tammy! So my daughter got married this past August at our house. And so I was looking for a bunch of lanterns to put outside. And on Facebook, somebody posted these two lanterns. And so when I was DMing her, she gave me the address and said that the street was you had to turn into the prison in order to get to the street. So that was a little bit alarming to me. And I still went. And I passed back and forth a few times before I could figure out there were a few houses in front. And thankfully, they ended up being her husband worked for the prison. But I still went. And then later she even texted me. Yeah. Later she texted me because I just left money. She left them on the front and said, you left too much. I'm going to leave the money that, you know, the change or whatever if you want to swing back by and get it. And so it all ended up well, but I got my lanterns. The stuff we do to get a deal.

00:59:30 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 6:

Unreal, man. I would have said keep the change. How about this one here? Jennifer went to go. A guy was selling an Xbox. She showed up, and what did he have in his sweatpants?

00:59:41 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 5:

A gun just hanging out of his sweatpants, like out of his pocket. Oh, Lord Jesus. Oh, my God.

00:59:46 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 6:

Something out of a movie. Oh, my God. Yes. Gray sweatpants with a gun sticking out of it.

00:59:52 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 1:

Gray.

00:59:52 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

oh god that would have been that right there would have made me poop my pants steven what's up hi

01:00:00 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 2:

hey what's up hi steven's a doctor listen to what happened to one of his patients what happened

01:00:06 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 3:

uh so it was the same thing like somebody was meeting someone to buy something offline and the guy was in his car and the people tried to jump him and the guy reached in through his car through his driver's side and so the gentleman took off he drugged the guy on his car and then he hit a wall and the guy's arm got ripped off like inside of his truck a little souvenir

01:00:30 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 2:

wow did you have to reattach it uh no it was gone

01:00:37 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 3:

i know my god

01:00:46 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 2:

by the way do you have to pay extra for that hold on misfit victor can you top any of these calls because there's no way these calls have been unbelievable i would have just hung up what's up wait did that did that guy get the product did he win did he buy it off you know what that's a question i should have asked how did i not ask did he at least get his what he was buying i got this for an arm and a leg

01:01:09 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to give you a chance to go to Florida.

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:01:45 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, before you do your dirty on the 30, I do have to say this. Hopefully he's listening. We've got breaking news. It's Jaden Lash's 16th birthday today. Happy birthday, Jaden! Jaden Lash, celebrating his 16th birthday. If you go to school with him at Bloomfield Hills High School, Make sure you wish him a happy birthday. Party's at the Lash's house tonight. Mom's hand-making a cake or something. I don't know. Yeah, so Samantha and Ryan.

01:02:15 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 4:

Aw, happy birthday.

01:02:16 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 2:

Their baby, their eldest, is 16 years old. Happy birthday to you. What's going on in the dirty?

01:02:23 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so the people in the top three spots on Forbes' billionaire list, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, will have prime seats at President-elect Trump's inauguration on Monday. The three billionaires will be sitting together on that platform for everybody to see with other high-profile guests, including all of Trump's cabinet nominees. Amazon and Meta have each donated about a million bucks to the inauguration, while Elon Musk spent more than $250 million to help Trump win the election. So that's how they got it.

01:02:55 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 2:

I saw that former First Lady Michelle Obama will not be attending. She didn't attend the Carter funeral, but I wondered if this is a statement being made or if there's something going on.

01:03:08 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 4:

Her mom recently died.

01:03:09 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it was? It seemed to me like the news was reporting it as she didn't want to go because she's not a fan of Donald Trump, but President Barack Obama will be there. So it's going to be interesting to see what it's like in D.C. and this is happening on what, on Monday, is that right?

01:03:26 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 4:

On Monday, on OK Day.

01:03:27 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Tonight, President Biden does his last speech, so he's going to speak and be on television tonight. Is it like State of the Union vibes, or is that what I'm talking? It's kind of him, I think, in the Oval or one of the places in the White House, and he's going to do a speech talking about his four years as a president. And I think that must be how they always do it. Like, they say goodbye, but I don't know if it's good with that. Exit. Recap. Exit interview.

01:03:51 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 4:

Saw this yesterday amid the continuing L.A. fires. Jay Leno has been driving to various relief sites in his own fire truck, vintage fire truck. It's actually pretty cool to feed first responders. He was chatting with CNN's Anderson Cooper about the help that he's been offering.

01:04:08 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 1:

What you came by to drop off some supplies. We're cooking for the for the crew. And well, you guys, if you're hungry, we got we got a big barbecue going. And because, you know, they're all getting box lunches. We figure let's get some hot food. So it's kind of fun. And I drove a 1941 American LaFrance fire truck. So the guy's got it. You brought your own fire truck? It's good to have your own fire truck.

01:04:28 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, winds in the L.A. area are expected to reach around 70, 80 miles per hour today. This is not good.

01:04:35 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it weird, though, that he's driving his own fire truck when they're doing this and he's serving barbecue? Like, I just feel like, to me, like, I've heard some of these news people say, you know, use the words like, you know, an inferno of people showing up here. And I'm like, you got to be careful with the terminology you're using, you know, during this entire time. Yeah, when he said barbecue, I kind of cringed a little bit.

01:05:00 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 4:

They want hot meals. I'm like, don't they want cold meals? Diddy. Sorry. Diddy said those freak off videos that the government is trying to use against him actually prove his innocence. He says the tapes show consensual sex with several women, including his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. Diddy's defense team said they have seen the nine so-called freak off videos. and the content on the tapes amounts to private sexual activity between fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship. And Diddy's legal team says Cassie not only consented, but is evidently, quote, happy, dominant, and completely in control. The documents here reference victim number one, which we now know is Cassie. But Diddy's attorneys also say the tapes were not secretly recorded. They're pushing back on some of the conspiracy theories surrounding the case, claiming there are no secret cameras, no orgies, no other celebrities involved, no underground tunnels, no minors, and not so much as a hint of coercion or violence.

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm not mad at the defense.

01:06:02 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 6:

You think that it's going to be, that it could help get him off?

01:06:05 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't think that.

01:06:07 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 6:

He's cooked. He done. Yeah, that video alone in the hotel, I think. Absolutely. There's not a juror in the world that would be.

01:06:14 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, how can you say there's no violence when you're beating that? It's over before the trial even starts. But I will say, if the video does show that everybody's cool with it, then, I mean...

01:06:25 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 4:

But they also said they were drugged, so they might come off as being cool in it. And if you are dating somebody at some point in that relationship, I'm sure there was consensual sex. Correct. Yeah, that doesn't surprise me. Like, none of this, to me, is surprising. But that doesn't mean that the entire time, that was the case. I'm just saying, I'm not mad at the defense.

01:06:46 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 5:

I don't think he right, y'all.

01:06:48 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 4:

If you are a Sex and the City fan and you've ever made the trek, as I have, to 66 Perry Street in the West Village in New York City, a.k.a. Carrie Bradshaw's stoop, her apartment, no more photos are going to be allowed in front of it. The owners of that brownstone are asking the city's Landmarks Preservation Commission for permission to install a steel iron gate at the base of the steps to keep all the tourists away.

01:07:16 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 2:

Barbara Lorber has owned the building since 1978, and when she agreed to allow her stoop to be used for filming, she had no idea the show's popularity would lead to behavior like people climbing up on the steps, trying to open the door, and even carving their initials on the doorframe. On Tuesday, the Landmark Preservation Commission approved her request to install a gate on the stoop. She was emotional as she told the commissioners about her difficult decision.

01:07:42 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 3:

I love what it was. That house shouldn't be gated. Excuse me. Neighbors who live on Perry Street say

01:07:50 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 2:

they're also fed up and showed support for the gate. One woman says what she's witnessed is an egregious attack on personal property. I have yelled at people. I have spoken to people. I have

01:08:01 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 1:

been nice with people. I've been threatened. People have threatened to punch me in the face. They feel so entitled to this piece of private property that I don't think it's actually coming

01:08:10 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 4:

across how severe the situation is if you've never been there is a rope like a chain rope at the bottom of the steps that lead up to the brownstone and there's a sign on it that said like you know you can't go past this point no trust but i can't remember what it exactly says but people will literally go under it or climb over it and go right up to the door so they can get the photo i mean it is it is pretty carving the name in the door i mean that's nuts yeah yeah all right for For all of today's Dirty Catch-Up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

I saw this stat, and I thought, there's no way this could be possible. But then when I realized who are some of the people that fall in this category, I realized, yeah, I could see it possible. And this is no offense to any of you that it might be in this thing, because actually this is a deal. Where are my Gen Zers at? I'm Gen Z, right? No, you've aged out of Gen Z. You're a millennial.

01:11:37 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 5:

I sound better anyway.

01:11:38 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So this is for Lydia and KP. And Zach's under 30, isn't he? How old is Zach? Zach, how old are you?

01:11:49 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

He's 29. No one knows.

01:11:51 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 1:

He's a millennial. So just by a year he made this. This is actually a good thing to not be a Gen Zer. This stat to me is one of the funniest ones out. According to a survey, one in five Gen Zers can't change a light bulb.

01:12:09 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what?

01:12:10 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 1:

In a new survey, one in five people between the ages of 18 and 28 years old claimed that they couldn't change a light bulb.

01:12:19 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 2:

I understand this. Why? What?

01:12:21 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 1:

And.

01:12:22 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, screw it.

01:12:23 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Would just hire someone else to do it.

01:12:26 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 2:

So many of the new ones don't even have light bulbs. They're just like those LED lamps. So a lot of my lamps don't even have bulbs. and those bulbs that they have replaced all the halogens with, all of those LED ones, last like 10 years. So if you lived at your parents' house,

01:12:43 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 3:

when was the last time the bulb was even changed? Even like the LED ones that I put in my lamp, you just screw them out and screw a new one in. Right, but when was the last time you did that? Yeah, but even if you've never done it. Literally yesterday, which is so funny because I got a new lamp.

01:12:56 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean?

01:12:57 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 5:

I don't. Even if you've never done it, it literally is, you go left. Yeah, but you guys, you sound like the people that,

01:13:04 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 2:

To me, we go, how do you not know how to send a fax?

01:13:08 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 5:

That's completely different.

01:13:09 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not. But that's not something that you would need to do anymore.

01:13:13 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 1:

Light bulbs are more common than a fax machine. That's a bad analogy.

01:13:17 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I disagree. I think lamps are changing. And also, if you lived at your parents' house, they switched it out once every 10 years.

01:13:24 - 01:13:34 | Speaker 1:

It's because your parents, me, me, your dad, we screwed up. We didn't make you do this. And you guys didn't come watch us do it. So that's the thing.

01:13:34 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so this to me, though, is...

01:13:36 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Did your dad ever make you screw a light bulb in at all?

01:13:38 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course he did.

01:13:39 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 1:

So you know how to do it.

01:13:41 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 2:

Right, but I'm being understanding towards others because they don't have the same things we did growing up.

01:13:46 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 1:

You're very good at understanding others. I understand that, but sometimes you don't have to.

01:13:49 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 4:

I just feel like that. You look at it and you're like, oh, this is easy.

01:13:53 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's just like a dumb people. So you can actually not be sympathetic to others.

01:13:58 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 4:

Like if you said change attire, I would be like, okay, I understand. First off, I could not change my own tire. But that's like a multi-step process that requires some skill changing a light bulb. It's not that.

01:14:13 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 1:

This is, by the way, here's the interesting thing as far as the light bulbs. Let me finish the stat here real quick. The stat is one in five people say that Gen Zers could not change a light bulb. They would hire somebody to do it, especially if it was a ceiling fan because they said going up on a ladder would be too dangerous for them. That was literally the response on this thing. What's up, Jennifer? Hi.

01:14:38 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Do you know they have a vacuum attachment to change light bulbs?

01:14:43 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 1:

They do. They do. The Kirby's used to do it. Oh, my gosh.

01:14:47 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 5:

But I called to tell you that everybody's losing their brain because they cannot hear you online.

01:14:52 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they can't hear us on the – oh, hold on. Jen's ear is in charge of that.

01:14:55 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 5:

Before the last commercial break, they couldn't hear you.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

KP, they can't hear us on the live stream.

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 2:

right now because of uh there's no audio at all they said can you hear us oh we got to figure out

01:15:04 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 3:

why the audio is not working i can hear you on my alexa and i know you had a commercial break but i don't know anything besides that maybe it was during the commercial break it muted commercials okay i just fixed it somebody clicked this button yesterday here's it here's me by the

01:15:17 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 2:

way what are you you're in gen z aren't you i am gen z me yes can i be honest with you on this there are a lot of things that i think a lot of us can't do and i'm going to tell you some things that I can't do, Jen. I came up with this list. Three things that I can't do. Number one, I can't clip my toenails.

01:15:35 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 1:

What?

01:15:36 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea what it is about clipping my toenails. I have a hard time clipping my toenails.

01:15:41 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 6:

Who clips your toenails then? Maybe you think you're going to die if you bleed out.

01:15:45 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not even so much cutting myself. For some reason, I'm too fat to reach my toenails.

01:15:52 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 5:

I know people like you. You'll be okay. You'll get that.

01:15:54 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 2:

No, I go and get pedicures. So I go and get pedicures.

01:15:57 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 4:

Every time you need to clip your toenails, you go get a pedicure?

01:15:59 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 2:

I usually do, yes. So I keep up on my toes.

01:16:03 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 6:

And Chelsea probably only goes once a month.

01:16:06 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 2:

Number two, I cannot put bedsheets on. I'm not good at putting bedsheets on. Interesting. I've tried to make the bed. Chelsea says I'm horrible at this. You just don't want to do it. No, it always, like, pops off on one of the ends. I can't figure out why it is. Why don't they make the bedsheets bigger? And number three, I have never in my life ever been able to do Legos. I cannot do Legos.

01:16:26 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 1:

For real?

01:16:26 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 2:

I have no artistic ability, if you would call it for Legos, to do Legos. Like, my kids are so obsessed with Legos, and they used to sit around and do Legos all the time. They built even that big Star Wars one.

01:16:38 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:16:38 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 2:

I literally looked at them like, that's crazy. Like, I can't do it. I don't know what's going on.

01:16:44 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 1:

Are you guys Lego people? I mean, I love Legos. Josiah, when he was younger, was really into Legos. And I'm the type, like, I'll take over, and it'll become my thing and not, like, our thing. I'll just get really into it. You just got to read the instructions, though.

01:16:55 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, I don't read instructions. Look who you just said that, too. I can't read. Never mind. By the way, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's the simplest thing that you just can't do? Sean, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:17:09 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes. A few years ago, I discovered that my kids didn't know how to pump gas.

01:17:16 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Chelsea told me I failed our boys because we got a phone call one time from Luke asking how to put gas in his gas tank.

01:17:26 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 5:

What y'all mean? You know what you can't do, Mojo? And I thought about it. I thought about it. I was like, wow, I never really showed them. And I had to show them how to use the credit card. And I had to walk my daughter into the gas station and show her how to do it when you pay with cash.

01:17:38 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 2:

But, you know, my dad never showed me this. I just watched him do it. And then I modeled myself after that. Do we have to actually physically show them?

01:17:46 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 5:

Yep, that's what I had to do. God.

01:17:49 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 2:

Sean, we've failed, haven't we?

01:17:52 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 5:

I said, you know, yes, that's what I said. When they didn't know how to pump gas and say, I failed as a mother.

01:17:56 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

I failed. Hold on. KP was, uh, had a son.

01:17:59 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 4:

You did not fail as a mother. Mojo doesn't know how to turn on his ringer or off his ringer. That's true. Because every single show this week, a phone call has happened. A mom. No, that's his alarm. That's the alarm in his house. Somebody looking in.

01:18:13 - 01:18:15 | Unknown:

You are a dumb mother.

01:18:16 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am. I am. So seriously, I'll take it. That is, you're right. I'm dumb. I don't do that. And the light bulb, why is it that when you reach 50 years old, and I don't know if this happens to you, Sean, your flashlight randomly goes on on your phone.

01:18:32 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 4:

It always happens. You don't realize for an hour.

01:18:36 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 2:

What's up? How you doing there, Amy?

01:18:40 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you guys?

01:18:42 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. What's going on?

01:18:44 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so I know a simple task is changing light bulbs. I know that, you know, I jumped on, you know, as you're talking about these Gen Zs, and they don't know how to do nothing like that. But I am a big girl. I weigh about 230 pounds, and I live in a mobile home. So, you know those lights that are really high up in the ceiling? Well, I had to change those. I had to stand on top of my kitchen island and change it. Let me tell you, I thought I was going to fall through that island. I was so scared. I'm like, my kids are going to find me like this.

01:19:19 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine? Lady dies in mobile homes.

01:19:23 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 6:

Good job, though.

01:19:24 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

At least you did it.

01:19:25 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, changing light bulbs. That would be like the whole Axford news line. It would be hilarious.

01:19:34 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 2:

Hey, question for you, Amy. How many square feet is your mobile home?

01:19:39 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 6:

It's about almost 1,600 square feet.

01:19:41 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a big one. That's a big place. Super mobile home. I didn't realize that. Yeah.

01:19:46 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 6:

Yep. We have, it's four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, a big open kitchen. That's amazing. And a laundry room. It's considered a manufactured.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's sweet.

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 1:

No, that's nice. When you said mobile home, I was thinking.

01:20:03 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 5:

But those light bulbs are a killer, man.

01:20:04 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 1:

I was thinking RV when you said that, and I was thinking to myself, because I'm a big man, too, and I got to tell you that I was thinking, like, I'd be in the kitchen and the living room at the same time.

01:20:15 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 5:

No, like, it was legit. And then, like, the other light bulbs, I had to stand on top of our bar stools, and you know metal ain't made the way it used to. I could just see me getting on that stool and, you know, the part from Shallow House. Yes. Right in the chair. Oh, my God. I could see me in a bar stool. You are a rated movie.

01:20:40 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 1:

I love you, Amy. Thank you for the call. Appreciate you.

01:20:43 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 5:

I love you guys. Have a great day.

01:20:45 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself. Carissa, what is it that you can't do?

01:20:50 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you guys.

01:20:51 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 2:

I can't change my windshield wiper.

01:20:53 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 1:

I can't either. Oh, I can't do that. No way.

01:20:56 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 2:

You're talking about the actual wiper, not the fluid, right? Maybe both, I guess. I wouldn't know how to change the wiper.

01:21:05 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't have a clue either. Yeah. You're not alone. Yeah. You're good. Okay, good. You're good. They do it when you get your oil change.

01:21:12 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:21:13 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? I can't believe you guys are paying for somebody to do that. See that? Wait, but you're saying that the light bulb people aren't...

01:21:20 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 3:

No, I just say I understand it. Just like I understand why you guys don't know how to do it. You change your windshield wipers?

01:21:26 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

I do. She's a car girl. She changes her own oil, her own everything. No, she's... No.

01:21:31 - 01:21:32 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

01:21:33 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 1:

Megan honestly turns all the skies on when she talks about the car stuff that she can do. It's actually great. What else can you do?

01:21:40 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was thinking to kind of fit into this topic, what I can't do, and I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to fill out a paper voting ballot when I moved to Michigan. Oh, wow. Yeah. It was so difficult. I did not understand it at all.

01:21:54 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 1:

I wouldn't know how to do, like, my own taxes or anything like that. Like, I wouldn't be able to figure that thing out. Murphy, you there?

01:22:01 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:22:01 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 1:

What can you not do?

01:22:03 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 6:

I can't iron. Come on, Murph, dog. I know, right? You can't be out here wrinkled.

01:22:14 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm going to get a steam machine, too, because I'm with you. Steam's way better. I can't iron either. I one time ironed a crease so bad into my clothes, I couldn't get it out. It took two washes to get the crease back out. I get it. I get it.

01:22:25 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm going back in the dryer. Smartest move ever. Go to steam on. Alexis, what's up?

01:22:32 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time long time. Hey. Alexis, you're the fun. Actually, in high school, Megan, I used to work with your brother at Vito's.

01:22:40 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my good Lord. How often were you drunk in my driveway?

01:22:45 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. That wasn't me. That was probably my cousin, honestly. Happened a lot. Um, after graduation, I ended up working at Berry Bagels and there were kids there. There were kids there that did not know how to fill a mop bucket, let alone use the mop on the floor. Like they would be scraping the metal part of the mop against the ground instead of actually trying to use the brush part. Yeah. And it was just absurd. It's like, how have you gone this long in your life and you haven't learned how to pick up after yourself? Yeah. Or, like, it's the most absurd thing.

01:23:24 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's amazing. You know what? They probably had parents that did everything for them, right?

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it was Sylvania, so.

01:23:33 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 1:

Rich people. Can I tell you something? It was always, to me, the kid who had the single mom. If you had a single mom, you did everything. And you knew how to do it. Because mom was working and she was doing stuff, and you just had to know how to do it. Like, I remember one kid came to school one time, and he had a single mom. And he made himself the most beautiful sandwich I've ever seen. Come on. And he cut it, and I go, your mom is the greatest. He goes, my mom? He goes, I did that. I'm like, are you kidding me? That's impressive. Isn't that crazy? You learn a lot with a single mom. Yeah. So single mom. Shout out to all the single moms out there. One of my favorite ones on here, because I don't know if any of you guys have ever had to do this, but Mickey, what is it that your daughter didn't know how to do?

01:24:13 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 6:

When my daughter moved out on her own, she didn't know how to fill out a check, But in her defense, she never used them. Yeah. But she also didn't know how to address an envelope. Yeah, those are two.

01:24:25 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 2:

My husband always makes me check if we have to, like, randomly write a check for something because he didn't know either. And the envelope thing, that's a super popular one.

01:24:36 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 1:

Where to put the stamp, where to put your return address,

01:24:39 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 2:

where to even put your zip code on there. Like, do you put it on the same line or underneath?

01:24:43 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's a big one. Katie, last one. Katie, what is it that you can't do?

01:24:49 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 4:

I can't figure out how to make grilled cheese.

01:24:51 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 1:

Come on now, Katie.

01:24:53 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean? I don't know. I've just always had people make it for me. So I'm like, can you make me grilled cheese?

01:25:00 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 1:

And I've never needed to figure it out. Oh, okay. I want your life. Spray that pan. Slow and steady. Slow and steady. No, don't learn. Mayonnaise on both sides. It's even better. Way better than butter. I promise you. I promise you. I'm not trying. It's both, but don't learn. Yeah. Keep that down. Both is even better.

01:25:20 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:25:27 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm on a, I'm on a, I'm on a, I'm on a Ron.

01:26:28 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 1:

It's just I'm on a Ron. It's just I'm on a Ron.

01:26:31 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 3:

When I think about it, I can't say it for some reason.

01:26:33 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 1:

It's like Chabalron.

01:26:34 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:26:34 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 1:

Both very fancy.

01:26:36 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 3:

We can't do the contest, the headstand contest, because they said that we would hurt a listener. So we will discuss the new contest coming up in a second. Plus, Lydia, we got to call some of our people that are trying to win a chance to go to the Saturday's game from breaking and entering Christmas Wish. and that donation from the anonymous guy. Let's do that in like the next 20 minutes or so. That's a good contest. By the way, the entries are getting great on that one. People that want something really cool to happen to them, and it's thanks to a rich dude. Right now on the show, topics that are soon to come. Simplest thing that, I just did that. Megan trying out for one of the most popular shows on TV. Which show is it this time? We'll find out. Kev says, stop all the pet names. And second date update, all coming up in like the next hour here on the Mojo in the Morning show. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. Megan, you have, first off, I know that you've tried out for, what was the show? Love is Blind. Love is Blind. Which, by the way, you got Rob. I still think you should have been on it. Yes, I agree with Mojo.

01:27:46 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm really upset about it. I made it to the fourth round of auditions the first time I applied, and the second time I didn't make it past the first round.

01:27:53 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay, this is something.

01:27:54 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 1:

Which is insane.

01:27:55 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 3:

This is something different. It's not another, like, dating type of a show, is it?

01:27:59 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 1:

No, I am obsessed with a new show. Well, a new version of an old show. Have any of you guys started watching Pop Culture Jeopardy with Colin Jost on Amazon Prime? No, but I love him. So good. I'm obsessed with Pop Culture Jeopardy. It is so much fun. He's a fantastic host. And I was thinking about it. My brother and I are really good when we watch the show together because everything I know, he doesn't know. Everything he knows, I don't know. So, like, we'd be a great team on this. And you need three people on each team in Pop Culture Jeopardy. So I said, you know what? Why don't I go on and see what it's like to, like, try out? I know that you can try out to be on Jeopardy online. You have to create an account. You have to take a test. and i realized as this test starts it's they said it's roughly 30 to 45 minutes long i'm like all right that's fine i got some time like i'm excited about this and i clicked on the wrong one and i auditioned for regular jeopardy i could never i have never felt dumber in my entire life i sat there and just thought to the poor producer who has to see the results of this that is incorrect I am so sorry. I did not mean to click on this button. You cannot audition for Pop Culture Jeopardy online. You can only audition for College, Regular Jeopardy, and Kids Jeopardy online. But I took a 40-minute test, and I failed it so hard.

01:29:26 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 2:

That is incorrect.

01:29:27 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 1:

I was like, oh, they put all the hard ones at the beginning just to, like, put you in your place and see how you'll react. No, the whole thing.

01:29:32 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 3:

What are the questions?

01:29:34 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Geography, Russian literature, foreign languages spoken. in an era pre 1700s like I had no idea what was going on can I tell you when you know I will watch

01:29:48 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Jeopardy it doesn't seem like I'm the Jeopardy type but I'll just have it on on television I watch it only to see how dumb I really am and I realize how dumb I am and then I watch Wheel of Fortune

01:30:00 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 1:

just to say, oh, I actually am not that dumb. I figured it. I can figure that whole thing out. Or the Family Feud. Fire. That's what I want to do. I love Steve Harvey, our guy here.

01:30:10 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 5:

I tried out for Family Feud.

01:30:12 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 1:

Family Feud would be great. So Megan, are you going to try to see if you can do the pop culture? Apparently they

01:30:19 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 5:

recruit from people who do pub quizzes.

01:30:23 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

Really? We got to hang out? Zach and Kev?

01:30:26 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

We got to go back.

01:30:27 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 1:

I used to always, to me, I loved game shows. To me, I was like, this is the thing I always wanted to do. And for some reason, I always wanted to be on Match Game was one of the ones I always wanted to be on. And then the other one was, I thought that, what the heck was it?

01:30:47 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 2:

Price is Right?

01:30:48 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, yeah, Price is Right. I thought the Price is Right would have been the greatest. Because I always thought that Price is Right would be great. And what I would do is I'd wear a super tight shirt so that when I ran down the aisle, I jiggled all over. I wouldn't try to look good. I would try to look like, you know, and so I'd be like that guy. Because whenever those ladies like run down the aisle, their boobies are swinging. Oh, they're like their belly boobies, everything.

01:31:10 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 5:

The woman whose bra broke was my favorite. Does it have to be a game show, though? Because I do have a dream show to be on. What's that?

01:31:17 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 6:

Big Brother. Oh, yeah. Oh, really? I want to be on Big Brother. That would be great. I wanted to be on Nickelodeon Guts. Yeah. So bad. Or Legends of the Hidden Temple. So bad. And then Supermarket Sweep. I had my sights set on that when they brought it back. But, I mean, I auditioned for the, I was almost going to do The Bachelor. Thank you, Jesus, God in heaven. I chose this job instead of doing that. But, yeah.

01:31:37 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 2:

Man, when I was younger, they used to have, remember American Gladiator? Oh, yeah. They used to have a run. They're bringing it back. They used to have an obstacle course where they had, like, you put the balls in, you got to shoot them at the person. Yeah. Yes.

01:31:47 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 1:

Our friends, Will and Jessica's son, Danny, is obsessed with the show that Will was on.

01:31:52 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 6:

That Wes was on?

01:31:53 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Or the Wes was on. Why didn't I say Will? Will's his dad. Wes was on.

01:31:58 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 6:

American Ninja Warrior.

01:31:59 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 1:

He loves American Ninja Warrior so much. And when he found out that you're married to an American Ninja Warrior, he thought that you were like literally the first lady or something. I don't know. He was like crazy. The first lady of American Ninja Warrior. He was like so excited about it because he's been watching them online.

01:32:15 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:32:15 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Jennifer? How are you doing? Good. How are you? Good. What's happening?

01:32:20 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

Nothing. I hear Megan talking about Colin Jost and Jeopardy, and I have been all in.

01:32:28 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So do you think that Megan would be good on that show?

01:32:32 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 4:

I think that she would be great on that show.

01:32:34 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:32:35 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 4:

Have you been watching it?

01:32:37 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 5:

Every day. I cannot believe people are not watching the show. It's like truly the best new show to television. It's on Amazon. It's on Prime, yeah.

01:32:45 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Is it? Okay. It is really good.

01:32:47 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:32:48 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 1:

And the questions are easier than the regular?

01:32:50 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 4:

it's just all pop culture so it's all pop culture they're very to me they're very easy i'm sitting there popping them out everybody's looking at me like i'm crazy who's who's better

01:33:00 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 1:

host uh colin jost or the close or the the what's her name on uh or the whoever's a host on the

01:33:07 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 5:

ken jennings ken jennings and what is the other one she's so sad she was amazing i like colin right now because he's hilarious he's so good at it these people are kind of awkward and he makes It's so funny.

01:33:19 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:33:20 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 5:

Well, he roasts them sometimes, and they don't even realize it. I know. It's great.

01:33:23 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

You know what we should do, honestly? We always want to be on a TV show. We should put the task out there, and we should try to see if we can get on all the shows. And I bet you the show we would get on the most would be like a judge show. Could you imagine if we were like on Judge Judy? Judy Justice or whatever it is now? Or Greg. My sister was on Greg Mathis's show.

01:33:43 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 2:

I tried to get on Judge Judy. This girl smacked my laptop and broke it. I reached out. They reached out to me, and they said, we good, we'll fly you, da-da-da-da-da, but the girl ain't going to get on, so I never went.

01:33:52 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 1:

My favorite was I used to sit by Judge Mathis at the Pistons games, and so I told them how my sister was a huge fan, and she wanted to be on there, so he actually let her go on there. He called me up afterwards and said, man, your sister is great, but she talks a lot.

01:34:07 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 3:

She's perfect.

01:34:08 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? How you doing, Michelle?

01:34:11 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. I just wanted to share my lifelong dream from a kid was to be on Nickelodeon's Double Dare. Yes. Me and my brother tried to recreate it, and it really, really upset my mom. But still a dream.

01:34:29 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That show is great. That was like those shows. That was the best show. Iconic. Do you guys remember TRL? Oh, yeah. Of course, bro. So, TRL was obviously the show that everybody would go run home to watch. I would run home from school.

01:34:43 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I would get off the bus and, like, run in my living room.

01:34:46 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 1:

I knew Carson Daly because of KRQ in Tucson because Carson was an intern at KRQ.

01:34:51 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:34:52 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 1:

And Jimmy Kimmel? Jimmy Kimmel was actually a morning guy.

01:34:56 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 5:

Jesus Christ.

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so everybody came through. Think about that. How do you rank them?

01:34:59 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

And Gary Coleman.

01:35:00 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

And Gary Coleman. Yes, and Gary Coleman was on there. Gary Coleman was a co-host on the show with Betsy and I. So long story short, to go back to this whole thing, we used to call Carson, and there was people at the radio station that would want to go and just be in the studio audience. He wouldn't just put you in the studio audience. He would have you up there.

01:35:19 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 4:

You'd be the screamer.

01:35:20 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 2:

You'd be right up there, right up against the glass with the stars. Remember how they would do that? They would put in sync and stuff. I'm surprised they had a show like that. They tried to recreate it. It didn't do well. There was something about it, like, where you had these artists. Like, think about how Teddy Swims was for the Jingle Ball. People went crazy over him.

01:35:37 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 4:

That show was so good. It was great. I mean, that show was, like, the foundation of my teens.

01:35:41 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 2:

It was great. Shout out 106 and Park, too. That was a great one, too. Yeah. What's up, Kevin? Hi.

01:35:47 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, you guys. I just want to let you know I'm a little professional when it comes to game shows, so I've actually been on Let's Make a Deal three times. Oh, no. One twice. No, no.

01:35:58 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's cool.

01:36:00 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 1:

And I've actually coached my friend to win. I think she got, like, earrings that was, like, 800 bucks. But I've won a motorcycle on there and a trip to Mexico. Oh, my God. And I picked the wrong curtain. I picked curtain two. So next time I go on the show, which will be probably this year, I will shout you guys out for sure.

01:36:18 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I will give you Mojo in the Morning merch to wear.

01:36:21 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, question for you. Hey, let's go. Is there, like, a hack to getting on these shows?

01:36:27 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

There is a hack. So you have to have, like, a lot of energy. You have to make sure you know exactly why you wear your costume. Also, you need to know that when you get to the studio, you have to keep that same energy the whole time because the producers will be watching you, like Wayne Brady and, you know, people that work there. So you just have to constantly do that. I've also been on, like, Price is Right. I tried out for Supermarket Sweep. I tried out for Amazing Race, made it on the show, but, yeah. That's amazing. Easy.

01:36:59 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 4:

So a girl that I graduated from high school with is a producer for a bunch of game shows. I think she's doing Wheel of Fortune right now, but she's done Beach Shazam, Lip Sync Battle. She did Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? So like any of those kind of shows, I feel like, you know.

01:37:16 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:37:17 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 4:

You got your in, Megan.

01:37:19 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to be on game shows, though. I want to be on reality shows. Yeah. I want to be on. But you just said Jeopardy. Well, yeah, but that's the one exception. because it's the only thing I'd actually be good at. I wouldn't be good at Big Brother either. I'd probably be first evicted. I've never seen Big Brother.

01:37:34 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 2:

But I know how to be a TV villain. Would that ruin you, though?

01:37:36 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 3:

No, no, because I would be there to make a scene. I want you to do Love is Plain so bad. I wish they would have reached out to me. I don't understand how I got four rounds into the process the first time. Like, talking to producers, going through, sending individualized videos, like truly doing on-the-phone interviews to the second time I auditioned because COVID had happened, ghosted. And I think Kev should be the next Bachelor.

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

I'm done with this Recycling Pass contestant.

01:38:02 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

He basically is the Bachelor right now. I like my off-life. Let me show you this girl here. Hold on one second. I got to show you this girl. I'm telling you, we got to get to Grand Rapids. You need a hot tub. Every Bachelor episode has them in the hot tub with these girls. All right, same with you. Wait till I get a summer body, though. I'll be straight. I'll get a six-pack. Over. Mojo in the morning. Yes.

01:38:20 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 3:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:23 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to do the second date update. Why are you not getting a call after you went on a date? We're going to find out for Amanda this morning. So, Amanda, hi. How are you? Good. How are you? Good. I guess this would be probably one of the worst things to happen to you in the last month, right? When you're trying to figure out, like, why he's not calling back. You guys went on a date. You are a divorced mom and went on a date with a guy. You thought things went great, and now you're not getting any calls back from him, and you want to know exactly what's going on. Yeah. It's been super weird.

01:39:07 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 1:

It's awkward.

01:39:08 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to find out what's going on. Jake is on the phone with us right now. Jake, say hi to Amanda.

01:39:15 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hey. How's it going, guys? It's going good.

01:39:19 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Amanda.

01:39:21 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Jake, we're on the radio right now, okay? And Amanda's on with us, and we're doing a thing we do called the second date update. And Amanda, she entered in to try to get on and find out why she's not getting a call back. First off, I got to just ask you guys a question. How was the date? Like, where did you guys do, and what did you guys do, Amanda? oh well so yeah we just it was like a really it was a really nice time we um ended up going for uh dinner and then we had so much fun that we ended up like hanging out for drinks and it was really

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 3:

really nice. Like, I thought it was a really great time. I don't know. I don't know.

01:40:08 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 4:

Jake, what's going on? Jake, why are you not calling her back?

01:40:14 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I mean, it was a great date. I don't know. I think maybe I was just a little anxious to send some anxiety about going forward after the first date. I don't know.

01:40:29 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 4:

Why is that? Why did you have anxiety?

01:40:35 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 1:

I mean, maybe it was just too, I felt too good to be true. I mean, we really, we hit it off and I just, you know, after being divorced and getting back into things, it's like, it's not easy, you know?

01:40:46 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 4:

Is there something that would keep you from continuing to date Amanda and just getting to continue to get to know her?

01:40:54 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 1:

I mean, no, yes and no.

01:40:57 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 2:

What's the yes?

01:40:59 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 1:

well i mean we kind of have something in common okay that uh i'm nervous about what is that if you don't mind us asking if you don't mind sharing with us so i found out that uh that our kids go to the same school okay how old are your kids um they're both in high school okay so your kids go

01:41:27 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 4:

to the same high school and you didn't amanda you guys didn't know that until the date or was it

01:41:32 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 3:

after the date that you guys figured that out yeah so we kind of i mean i actually thought that was i mean that's where i feel like we connected a little bit like yeah we found out on the date but i i didn't realize that was like a bad thing i was like this was actually like kind of cool like

01:41:50 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 4:

you guys could drop the kids off together or i guess they're in high school they probably don't need to be dropped off or would it be weird for your kids is that what you're thinking jake

01:41:58 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 1:

yeah i mean i just i i don't know i just didn't want to like throw my son into that and like i i just i didn't want to just dive into this full on and then and then just say like hey this is what's going on and then he's like embarrassed or i'm dating so

01:42:17 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 2:

and so's mom right i yeah i could see that can i ask you guys a question you guys went out just

01:42:23 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 4:

for dinner and drinks. Did anything more happen with you guys? Did you guys go back to one of your homes? Mm-hmm.

01:42:37 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 1:

There might have been some after-hours activities.

01:42:39 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 4:

Wait, where did you guys go? That's a nice way to put it. Where did you guys go, Amanda? We went back to my place, actually. So you went back to your house, the kids weren't home, and you guys were just being kids, weren't you? I mean, yeah. basically yeah so okay so here's the here's the thing so jake is a little now uncomfortable with the fact that he's gonna have to tell his kids or would have to tell his kids that he's dating one of their you know friends from school or somebody or maybe not friends from school parent and yeah I don't yeah I just feel like would that be weird like what and I'll ask this question uh if that's ever happened to anybody or if you would think that would be weird 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 would it be weird as a divorced mom or dad to start dating somebody and then to know that that person is a mom or a dad of one of the kids that your kid goes to school with. I think that would be pretty wild. I actually think this is a reality show in itself.

01:43:49 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 2:

But I think it's not uncommon.

01:43:50 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:43:51 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, I know it's not uncommon at all.

01:43:53 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 4:

Have you known anybody at all? Oh, yeah. Really?

01:43:55 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 2:

I shouldn't say tons, but I know several now married couples that their kids go to the same school. I went to school with kids, too. Yeah. Did you really? Mm-hmm. Yeah.

01:44:05 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Do the kids like that, though? Because I could just picture. I'm thinking of all the kids that are friends of ours, that their parents are divorced. I could see them being upset by that.

01:44:15 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 2:

It could go either way. It could be a really, really great thing, or it could be a really bad thing. You could say that about anything. Right.

01:44:21 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

But as a kid, I don't necessarily think you want to know that your mom or dad is dating, you know, Joey's, you know, parent or something like that, you know, or whoever the kid is. I remember when one of my best buddies got in in our couple friends got divorced and I remember I had people that would reach out to me on both both men and women going hey I heard so-and-so's got divorced yeah yeah do you think they're ready to start dating I'm like going wait a second man that is like crazy how fast the people like yeah because you when you're a single parent sometimes you you know you don't just take that time you want to be able to get back on the thing because Do you think you're.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 2:

not going to be able to do that but hold on a second let me uh grab some calls here brooke

01:45:04 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 4:

what's happening hey um i am a high school teacher and was dating one of my not on purpose but i was dating a guy um and uh then his son was in my class see that to me that to me is really tough like that would be so hard if i knew that my parent were dating my teacher yeah was it awkward for him to know that i don't think he knew so it was awkward for me but he had no idea

01:45:31 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 2:

so i'm still friends with him yeah when did you realize that that he was a dad of one of the kids

01:45:38 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 4:

um well i so i uh was set up with him by a mutual friend and so we were um we started talking for quite a while and so his son had gone to the middle school that feeds into high school where work so i knew that but then i didn't know that things were gonna you know progress at all and then he was in my class and he was like hey i stumped in your class with his buddies and i'm like yeah that's not no thank you so it was super awkward but he ended up switching out actually so i was like really really happy because every day i felt super awkward starting class

01:46:11 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 2:

and having him just like watch me right uh thanks for the call i appreciate it kristin

01:46:16 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 8:

what did you want to say hi so i just wanted to say isn't it isn't it worse for the kids if he's thinking about you know what his kids think and how that could be uncomfortable for it like what if her kid found out that her mom got ghosted by her you know classmate or whatever and it's not worse than like getting you know like uncomfortably dating or with respect if somebody ghosted my mom

01:46:42 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 2:

I'd beat that kid's ass just to show that dad he should never do that again, right? Take care of business there. Shay, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. Amanda went on a date with Jake. Now they have the awkwardness of the fact that their kids go to high school together. What do you want to say?

01:47:00 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 6:

He's reading way too much into it. It's high school. There's like how many kids in the high school? It's not like it's a little elementary school where there's, you know, a few kids. I literally dated a guy that I met. It was the first time I dated after my divorce, actually, and we met at the school. Our kids went, like, across the hall from each other. The kids didn't care. They thought it was cool.

01:47:20 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what actually is good about your kids going to high school together? You have the same break times. So you get the same February break, spring break.

01:47:26 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 1:

Vacations are easy.

01:47:27 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You can all go together on vacation. Hey, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. He is probably reading too much into it. Miranda, what's up? Hi.

01:47:36 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo. I think he's just embarrassed to be seen with her now, you know, around the kids and everything. If she was hot, I don't think he'd care as much.

01:47:46 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm not feeling that. That's me. I don't know. I don't know. That's a little. I feel bad when you're saying that. Annie, what's up?

01:47:56 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just wanted to talk about that. My dad used to date some girls, parents at my school. And it was just always so weird because, I mean, I'm going to be honest, he might be a bit, he might talk to a lot of women, but he just, he, like, just talked to a bunch of girls at my school.

01:48:19 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Wait, your dad was a player with the parents of the girls that you went to school with?

01:48:24 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 5:

Like, basically. And it was a lot of my friends' parents. And, like, I mean, he wasn't, like, weird with it. Like, he would just tell me that their parents are, like, pretty or whatever. But, like, still, it was, like, weird. Man, I don't know if I'm not.

01:48:44 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 1:

Women love dads, especially involved dads. When they see you at the school and they see how you're handling your son or your daughter, they be on.

01:48:51 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 2:

Are you speaking from experience? For sure. Wow. Maybe looking, maybe choosing. Annie, were there any girls that you hated in school that your dad ended up fooling around with their mom?

01:49:02 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 5:

No, not necessarily. Like, no, but, like, a lot of them, I just feel, there was a time period where I was, like, in a group chat and they were texting about my dad, like, basically calling him a player and, like, coming at me. And I was like, yo, like, come on.

01:49:22 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Annie, your dad's over here right now in mom's bedroom. It's, like, crazy. All right, second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:31 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown, second date update, and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:42 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

I didn't put the little solicit thingy in there, the little sounder, but I'll just do it right here before the Dirty. Want to go and win some money? We got money the next two giveaways. $500 to help pay your rent. You can win right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 90

01:50:00 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 3:

Ninety-fifth caller, $500 to help pay your rent, courtesy of the upcoming movie that's out in theaters this weekend called One of Them Days. That's starring Kiki Palmer and SZA. Good luck to you, 95th caller. Shannon's got the dirty. What's happening, Shannon?

01:50:14 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 2:

So the Detroit Lions-Washington Commanders matchup is expected to be the priciest NFL playoff ticket in history, you guys, in history. Ticket prices for the NFL's divisional round playoff matchup at Ford Field have continued to increase every single day. And actually, I think that these numbers I'm about to tell you have changed from when we came in and had our pre-show meeting this morning. But on TickPick, the average purchase price for the game is $980. The lowest price, which I think these are already gone, was $460 on Vivid Seats. I think that number is now closer to about $600. The most expensive seat can be found in Vivid Seats as well, where fans can purchase a lower-level Section 128 seat for $6,105 per ticket. Could you imagine paying that much money for one ticket? No. I mean, even for the Super Bowl, that to me is asinine. If I got it. You would pay six grand for one ticket? Oh, if you had the money. I thought you meant if you had the opportunity to get a ticket.

01:51:19 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was papered up, for sure.

01:51:21 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 2:

Each of the three most expensive non-Super Bowl NFL games have all been played at Ford Field in NFL history.

01:51:28 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 3:

So I was talking to a guy that works for Fox, who used to work locally for the local station there, Fox 2, now works for Fox National, who said that he's going to be in town. They picked, the NFL picked Saturday night's game as their premier biggest rated game. Because they realize that college football is not playing on Saturday night. And it's going to be, that is the time that everybody wanted. Because I was wondering, I'm like, why are they not playing on Sunday? And I know that they, you know, do that. But they said that Saturday night's game, they believe, will have more of a TV viewing audience than Sunday's games will have. And it's because the Lions are drawing people to watch the games. People that aren't even in Detroit are loving the Lions.

01:52:13 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 2:

YouTube's Mr. Beast has joined the bid to buy TikTok in an attempt to save it from being banned in the United States Sunday midnight. That's the magic time that it could go bye-bye. But Mr. Beast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, tweeted over the weekend about this. And everybody thought that he was joking that he was going to buy TikTok. Well, he's not. Fast forward to this morning. Mr. Beast, who has more than 300 million subscribers on YouTube, excuse me, doubled down on what he wrote, claiming that he really has been in contact with possible billionaire investors. He tweeted, let's see if we can pull this off. So now we've got Elon Musk. It's been a day. You got it. You got it. Elon Musk in the mix and Mr. Beast. Here's the thing, though. Like Mr. Beast's whole brand is his reputation. And if something happens on the platform, does it ruin his reputation? Yeah, and he does so much good. Like, that's what his reputation is all about.

01:53:08 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

They're saying the other big news is that, you know, the Supreme Court is supposed to rule by Sunday. That's like the big day. The big rumor now is that the Supreme Court may put off the ruling on this thing to wait for the inauguration of President Trump. Trump going to come in with a cape on and he going to say TikTok. Look what's going on.

01:53:29 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 2:

He wasn't advocating for it to be banned in the first place. I don't understand the flip-flop.

01:53:34 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 3:

He wasn't. Yes, he was. No, he wasn't. Not in the beginning of the whole thing he was, but no, he was one of the ones during the election.

01:53:41 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 1:

There are a lot of users. There's a lot of good, and there's a lot of bad with TikTok. But the thing I don't like is that without TikTok, you can make Facebook bigger, and I consider Facebook to be an enemy of the people.

01:53:57 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 3:

But Zuckerberg is going to be front row at his inauguration, right?

01:54:01 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes, you're right. Sitting right next to Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

01:54:05 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of people that are saying that they think that this is going to end up being a non-issue. So, I don't know. It will be wild. If it is an issue, I can tell you this, there's going to be a lot of people with free time on their hands.

01:54:18 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 2:

Kate Middleton said she is in remission from cancer and is looking forward to a fulfilling 2025. She was thanking the staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital for her exceptional care. I know she was making a few visits over the weekend, but she said, I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. And yesterday was the first time the princess used the word remission to describe exactly where she is on her cancer journey.

01:54:44 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 3:

Do we believe that she even had cancer? Wasn't that one of the tabloid rumors that she never even had it?

01:54:51 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, it wasn't that they, the tabloid rumor, which I don't believe by the way, was that she had like pre-cancerous cells and that they.

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 6:

were making this a bigger thing than it really was. But, I mean, she went through chemo.

01:55:06 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:55:06 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 6:

That's what they say.

01:55:08 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 4:

People look at all them fake pictures. What do you think, Megan? I know that you're not one that trusts the royals.

01:55:14 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 6:

I hope that you would not lie about something like that. I know people do, but I would hope that such a high-profile person would not lie about something like that. I think it's good news that she's in remission now, though.

01:55:24 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 5:

That's one of them things you can't question, though. You know what I mean? Somebody say that, you've got to be like, oh, okay, I can't really be like...

01:55:31 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? I don't know. I think the Royals people question all the actions that they do and get away from it.

01:55:36 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm saying like, yeah, like if someone comes out and say that they have cancer, you automatically are like, oh, my God. It's not one of the things like, do you really?

01:55:46 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? When it first came out, she and her husband were going through a lot of issues because of Harry and Meghan.

01:55:54 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 5:

I don't think it's real. I'll see it. Really? Interesting. I don't think a lot of stuff would be true, dog. TV fake, bro.

01:56:00 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 4:

What do you think's going on with, do you think, how pissed do you think Meghan Markle and Harry are that the fires are going on right now because they can't release their show that they had?

01:56:10 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 5:

I mean. I mean. I think they more concerned about the fires.

01:56:13 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 4:

You think so?

01:56:13 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they were out there volunteering and helping distribute food and supplies to people. I like Harry.

01:56:19 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 4:

You trust them, but you don't trust the others. Yeah, for sure. Oh, God. I do.

01:56:23 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 7:

Because they walked away from it. Yeah. Which means it was probably pretty bad to walk away from.

01:56:27 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 6:

And lastly, if you have little ones, you probably know all about Miss Rachel. Miss Rachel is very, very popular on YouTube. And now her show is making its way over to Netflix.

01:56:41 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Let's figure out what our letter of the day is. Soon, you can also watch Miss Rachel on Netflix.

01:56:50 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she's set to make her Netflix debut this month for 30 to 60 minute episodes. is going to be available to stream on January 27th with more episodes launching later this year. She's like the Mr. Rogers of this generation. I'm not surprised.

01:57:07 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 7:

She's huge.

01:57:08 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 4:

After hearing her voice, I'm so happy my kids are drunk.

01:57:11 - 01:57:18 | Speaker 7:

She talked about the science behind it in an interview recently. She was asked why she uses that voice, and kids are more receptive to learning in that pitch.

01:57:19 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:57:19 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 7:

Scientific.

01:57:20 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 6:

it. He plays football. He's played on multiple teams. Oh, that's cool. Year in, year out. What kind of player is he?

02:01:01 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 2:

What position has he played? Is he on offense defense? Quarterback.

02:01:05 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 3:

I believe it's quarterback.

02:01:06 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't it be cool if Myesha's son, what's his name?

02:01:10 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 3:

Da Vinci.

02:01:12 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 2:

What a name. What if Da Vinci was a future NFL player? Would that not be amazing? You know what?

02:01:20 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 3:

That would be so sweet. But I think he's shooting towards that goal. And then buy mama a house.

02:01:25 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

I always love that. I always think that it's wonderful whenever you talk to some college kids who got a full ride to school and they're helping out their parents and you say, what's the first thing you're going to do when you make it big and get a big NIL or a big pro contract? And they're like, I'm buying mama a house. Thanks. Holly, you also are going to get entered for this too. Holly, how you doing?

02:01:49 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm good.

02:01:51 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 2:

Holly wants to take her dad. Is that right?

02:01:54 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 4:

I want it for my dad and my son. So I have six kids, and he's number three.

02:02:00 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 2:

So you want grandpa?

02:02:00 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 4:

And he's eight years old.

02:02:02 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:02:02 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, his papa, yes.

02:02:04 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Tell me why papa and what's your son's name?

02:02:07 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 4:

Benjamin.

02:02:08 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 2:

Why papa and Benjamin should go to the game.

02:02:11 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 4:

So I was recently separated from my husband about two years ago, and we moved in with my parents, and they my dad and him bonded over football benjamin plays flag football um when i'm able to afford to have a minute and um they bonded over it his favorite player is hutchinson so yeah um he's been watching all the games and it's something that has brought them closer together um so it's it would be a good bonding experience for them and i just want it for them because i You know, I could never afford to, with six kids on my own, it's, you know, hard.

02:02:52 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 2:

Holly from Holly. We got to see what we can do for you, Holly. I love this. And I don't know if you heard, did you hear the first day we did this on Monday? Is that when you entered?

02:03:03 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 4:

I actually listened to it on Tuesday. I listened to the playbacks, but, yep, and then my mom had told me to.

02:03:11 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 2:

Did you hear the gentleman that was on with us, the anonymous donor, and his reasoning of why he donated the money to do this?

02:03:18 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:03:18 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was so sweet for the listeners that didn't hear it. You can go back and listen to it. He just said that one of the things you realize in this world of negativity sometimes, that there's one thing about the Lions, everybody has come together to be so excited about this. Even if you're not a sports fan, you're excited about this, and it's brought so much positive attention to Detroit. His biggest thing that he said was, why not give everybody a chance to go and not just be able to have to watch it on TV? So Holly, Benjamin, and Papa hopefully are going to get a chance. We're entering right now mojoswish.org. Thank you for your story.

02:03:52 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

02:03:53 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 2:

That's a sweet story. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text 95500. If you do text, make sure that you pick up your phone if you get a phone call right after you send that text, because that would be our producer, Lydia, calling you to say, hey, come on the radio and talk to us. and tell us if you're a first-time long-time so we can give you a shout-out and a little air horn, okay? Kev is not into pet names.

02:04:21 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't know. I don't know. There, I'm sure, are couples who have pet names that are wild and crazy. And although these aren't the most wild and crazy, it still is weird as hell to me every time I hear it. You know Gerard and Chrissy? Yeah. So Gerard. I said Gerard. Look at the look of disgust on your face as you're about to tell this story. And I've known them for, like, however long Chrissy's been in their family. It's just like, they got a kid in college, so I don't know. Chrissy had to be 20 years at this point. She calls my cousin Gerard daddy, and he calls her mommy. Oh, I don't like that. Dog, and, like, we just be in the house.

02:05:00 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 7:

And I've hated it since the dawn. And now it's just like, ugh. I hate it when married people say that in front of their children. That's in this situation. I hate that, too.

02:05:10 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 5:

She'd be like, daddy. He'd be like, oh, mommy. I'd be like, oh, my God.

02:05:13 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 7:

Even if you say go ask mommy or go ask daddy, if that child is above the age of five, it's go ask your mom or go ask your dad. And not go ask mommy and go ask daddy.

02:05:22 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 5:

It's so nasty.

02:05:23 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 8:

Ugh. No, but to call your, like, I could never to call him as daddy.

02:05:28 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 5:

No way. Not in the bedroom, not any of those activities.

02:05:32 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 8:

No, even during those activities, it's a big no for me.

02:05:36 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 5:

Like, Daddy, you want something from the bad news? No. Mommy, can you get...

02:05:40 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 4:

The only time I find it hot is when Allie used to call Mike Poppy. And it would be like, she's like, oh, Poppy. And some of them are like, oh, my God.

02:05:50 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 8:

That was mostly an in-the-bedroom thing for them.

02:05:53 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 4:

But the Latin thing, for some reason, when you are, you know, of any Latin, you know, ethnicity, for some reason, it's hot. That's an exception. There are exceptions to the rule. Hold on a second. Rambo, hi. We haven't talked to you in a while. What's up, Rambo? Hi, what's up? What's going on? Rambo, what do you think of calling your wife and girlfriends, you know, whatever, mommy, and the girls calling the guys poppy or papa or daddy?

02:06:22 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 6:

No, I ain't with that at all. But I do call my son daddy, and I call my daughter mommy. Why do you do that?

02:06:29 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 8:

That's even weirder. Okay, so I do that too.

02:06:31 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 6:

That's all they say. They're with daddy, daddy, mommy, mommy. I'm like, come here, mommy. She knows I'm talking to her.

02:06:36 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 8:

I don't know why I do that. I call both of them, like, I think it was a thing that started when, I don't know where I got it from, but both of them are, like, mama. It's the weirdest thing, but yeah.

02:06:48 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 4:

Rambo, you got a pet name, though, for your girl?

02:06:51 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 6:

Go ahead.

02:06:52 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

You got a pet name for your girl?

02:06:55 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. We don't shoot that long.

02:06:58 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 7:

There's only one. There's only one. Babe. Babe is the only one.

02:07:03 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Not even baby. What about bae? Or bae.

02:07:05 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 8:

But you have to be careful because you can't use the same pet name that you used in a previous relationship. Yes, you can. No, you cannot. Yes, you can. No, you cannot.

02:07:15 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 4:

If he or she doesn't know it. But then it's still weird for you.

02:07:19 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 8:

It's still weird for you. Really? But, babe, is that like... Like, I called my ex-husband a certain pet name. I would never call Wes that same pet name. That would be very weird. But, babe, is like the generic version. It doesn't matter.

02:07:30 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 7:

It's not special or pleasant because it's you.

02:07:31 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 8:

Because I would think, whatever the word was, that's like, I would think of that person. Do you see what I mean? No, it's type of for the role. It's like, teacher.

02:07:38 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Kevin, you there? Yeah, what's up? No. Hey, remember an old girl just on the phone? She was like, yeah, um, he likes the Lions team. And another team from Chicago, you was like, the Bears? Yeah. Like, it was so obvious. Like, who other team you talking about? No, I'm just saying, like, just hearing.

02:07:52 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

She's not a sports fan. Yeah, she's not a big sports fan. Hold on a second. Eric, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey.

02:08:00 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I agree with the whole, like, mommy-daddy thing. That's still weird. That's kind of weird. Not my thing. But also, too, like, what's really acceptable in society today, which I still do it with my wife, and that's like calling her baby, which is like, you know, I don't know. The pet named Baby, it's – When you kind of think about it, it's kind of weird.

02:08:22 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 4:

If I ever do call Chelsea, like, honey, baby, you know, babe or something like that, she's always like, eh, she kind of cringes when she doesn't. She's like, call me. She says to me, call me Chelsea or Miss Chelsea. No, Miss Chelsea would be nasty. That does sound good, doesn't it? I should try that and see what she does. No, she hates, like, pet names on that stuff. But for me, as a guy, I think that there's not a lot of good pet names for your guy, you know? Like, don't call me big fella. Unless, what's up, Sarah? Hi.

02:08:57 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning.

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's up?

02:08:59 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 2:

So I call my husband daddy. We have so many kids. We have eight kids. It's hard enough to remember all of their names. So I just refer to him as daddy because that's what everybody else calls him. And then he just refers to me as his wife. like the kids are new they don't live here at all they're just he's just like don't talk to my wife please don't touch my wife please leave my wife alone when she's doing dinner like like the kids are foreign to us or something so i can't remember his name and he just acts like our kids are

02:09:34 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 4:

strangers so that's why we call each other that i like that what's up jen hi

02:09:39 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 1:

hi what's going on one time i was dating this guy and he asked me or he sent me a text and he was like hey you fiending for daddy and i instantly like blocked him everything i was like absolutely not i would do the same

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That is gross. Lexi, what's happening? Hi.

02:10:06 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi. And so when my husband and I first started dating, we said the same thing. Like, you can't use the word babe or baby or honey, you know, because you can't reuse the same nickname.

02:10:17 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:10:17 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 4:

So we're going through the list, and we came up with the name Butthead. So we call each other Butthead. That's fine.

02:10:25 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 5:

And that's your thing. I like that. Do people look at you weird when you do it in public?

02:10:30 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 4:

We don't so much. We have a five-year-old daughter, and she started picking up on it, and we're like, yeah, we can't do that anymore. We can't call each other that.

02:10:39 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 5:

That's cute. I love it. Madeline, what's up? Hi, it's Mojo.

02:10:43 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Morning. Okay. We have, like, a plethora of nicknames, and everybody, like, if we call each other in public, they always ask for an explanation, and we really don't have one, which is, like, hilarious, but like annoying for other people but um uh one of them i told some i told the um lydia who answered his phone yeah lydia yeah lydia lydia i told lydia bumpy but i'm gonna switch it i want to talk about jibba dow what is that like i don't know see that's the problem like i like i can't remember i feel like it stemmed from some stupid viral video on instagram or something, and we'd, like, kind of, like, put our own stupid spin on it. So now, jib it out. Jib it out. You can turn it to jib.

02:11:33 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 5:

I like that. That's interesting. Or a haktua. That's it. You get me? No way. I like this one right here. It says, I call my girlfriend Boo-Boo Kitty F, and then he puts the word there. Boo-Boo Kitty? Boo-Boo Kitty.

02:11:45 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I'm responding to that one.

02:11:47 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 5:

No, that's Honey Boo-Boo, you're thinking. But Boo-Boo Kitty.

02:11:50 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 3:

No, who is Boo-Boo Kitty?

02:11:51 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 5:

Boo-Boo Kitty. To the Googles. Isn't it Boo-Boo Kitty?

02:11:54 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, that was, honey, you're thinking, honey. Sierra, what's up?

02:11:57 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Empire, that's what they called her. Oh, yeah, Boo Boo Kitty. What's up, Sierra, you there?

02:12:01 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, y'all, good morning. Good morning.

02:12:03 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 5:

What do you call your guy?

02:12:05 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 3:

I call him Boo Daddy or Stink.

02:12:08 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 5:

Or Stink. Stink, one of them. Yeah. Stink? Is that like in a bad way, like he's got some stink, or what is stink? Is stink like a good thing?

02:12:15 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like a cute, like, hey, stink.

02:12:19 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 5:

Stink. So stink is, really? I would think that if somebody's calling me stink, that there's something she thinks like my, I haven't washed my privates in a while or something.

02:12:28 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I'm going to stop calling her.

02:12:33 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Again, bonus, B-O-N-U-S, for an opportunity to win. Okay, Mojo in the Morning Show, there is something that Wes completely dumbfounded Shannon with that every guy will understand where Wes is coming from.

02:23:46 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 1:

So that makes me feel better that you say that because that was my question to you guys this morning is, is this true? Is this a thing? So my bathroom is like in my bedroom. So if Wes is like, we don't leave the door open if we're like pooping, but if we're peeing, that's fair game. And so he had the door open. I was getting into bed and he was peeing and I heard him, I swear I heard him go, yes and i was like who are you talking to and he said he was excited because he had a strong stream and i was like that i don't understand and he's like if you have a strong like p stream that's like a really really good thing and he's like he's like guys like this is a thing with guys i'm like i had no idea i don't know that i pat myself on the back if I have a strong pee.

02:24:43 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 2:

And then take it a step further, it's competitive. Okay, he said that too.

02:24:47 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

He goes, he's like, guys, talk about this. And if you're with another guy and you're peeing and a stream is stronger, that is very much a competition. I'll push harder.

02:24:56 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, what? You got to be careful, though. That's not good.

02:25:00 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 6:

things not only does the stream have to be strong but i have to pee for longer than you also really yeah really yeah so in in those moments i'll kind of take my foot off the gas a little bit

02:25:09 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 7:

he's like you don't want low pressure if there are other guys around you got to make sure you're

02:25:15 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 5:

coming out like hulk shannon i thought he was lying no we all know how we judge a good shower based on water pressure right right that's what it is for a guy you judge basically everything based on, and there's nothing worse that when you go to a urinal, especially in a men's room that has a bunch of them like a Ford Field or Little Caesars Arena and you go and you got stage fright. And then you got a soft stream because every guy behind you that's been standing in that long line is going look at that guy with the soft stream. You know what I mean?

02:25:49 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 7:

Truly, I'm about to be

02:25:51 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 5:

42 years old. This is new

02:25:53 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 7:

information to me. Any guys want to call up

02:25:55 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 5:

and talk about their stream? 844 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548.

02:26:00 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 6:

It's like, it's one of those, like I put, if I have a not so good stream, I like put my head down and walk away from the urinal in shame and just be like, we'll get them next time.

02:26:10 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 7:

I'm trying to think if girls have anything like this that we're competitive about in the bathroom.

02:26:13 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, your poops.

02:26:15 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 7:

No, we're not competitive. Like I, I, it's, it's like I compete with myself if I have a good poop and I'm like, ooh, that came out of me.

02:26:25 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 5:

I have friends that don't look back to see what it looks like.

02:26:28 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 7:

You are a liar. I'm not saying you. I'm saying if you say you don't, you're a liar. How do you even check your toilet paper to make sure you don't need another wipe?

02:26:35 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 5:

You should, for even health reasons, check back. You should make sure that you're looking. See if you want to make sure it's okay. Yeah. You want to make sure, well, that or discoloration, sometimes. What's discoloration? What do you mean? Sometimes you get the albino poop. Have you ever had the albino poop?

02:26:52 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 6:

A ghost poop? No.

02:26:53 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 7:

No. That's not a ghost poop. You don't need to wipe more than that.

02:26:57 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 5:

Or the vitiligo poop. I've had a vitiligo poop before. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hello. Hey, good morning. How you doing? We're doing fantastic. How are you? Would you like to tell us about your stream?

02:27:12 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. First of all, I don't know what neighborhood he's from, but that is not a thing from where I grew up. Wait, you don't worry about your stream? No. No, no. First of all, why are you comparing? I mean, that's just too close for comfort for me.

02:27:28 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 5:

But you understand, though, that it's good to have a strong stream. If you have a soft stream or like a sputtering stream, you got to fix the hose.

02:27:39 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a little trickle. Yeah, yeah. My dad, when he was 70, worried about it. How old are you? 59.

02:27:50 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, once you get over the age of 50 and you're peeing as much as you're peeing, you worry about your stream. You want to make sure you get everything out of there so you don't have to go. Because Chelsea will say to me, sometimes I'll go to the bathroom, and then I'll come back to bed, and I'll go, oh, crap, I didn't get it all out. And I have to go back again, and she thinks I'm not going in there to go pee. You know what I mean?

02:28:07 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank God. Thank God it ain't got to that point yet. But it's not a thing from where I'm from. Where are you from?

02:28:13 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, where are you from?

02:28:14 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm from the Yak Town.

02:28:16 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 5:

All right, well, listen, I'm going to tell you this. yak town still concerns themselves with it you may be the only one there that doesn't what's up what's up bobby hey how you doing what's going on but where are you calling from bobby hey i'm out in washington michigan how you doing today hey we worry about our streams in washington michigan

02:28:43 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what? What do you mean? You can binge watch a whole show after that.

02:28:47 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 1:

And you got to be careful at like a sporting event or something like that. You don't want to make it so obvious, but you're just like. I thought he didn't say the K.

02:28:54 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't think he said the K. I think he said the K and didn't say the K. All right. All right. No, not at all. Well, listen, we appreciate you, buddy, in Washington Township. Appreciate you guys listening out there. What's up, Brandon? How you doing?

02:29:50 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 1:

absolutely it's so funny

02:29:54 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

it's competitiveness man you gotta make sure that you're better it makes you feel like

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

02:30:55 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 1:

Rosie, why?

02:30:56 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 3:

A girl's got a strong stream. I could pee in a Gatorade bottle. Okay, Rosie.

02:31:00 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 4:

I need to take a pee-pee. Wow. That's amazing. Rosie's got like one of them shower heads. You're my kind of girl. You're turning me on, Rosie. That's amazing.

02:31:09 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 3:

I didn't have a cup and I was in the car, so that was the next best thing instead of my clothes.

02:31:13 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 4:

What town are you from?

02:31:15 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 3:

Detroit.

02:31:16 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Eastside, definitely, right?

02:31:20 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

Nope, Southwest. Oh, okay.

02:31:22 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gosh. There you go. All right. That's my girl. So you got any Latin in you?

02:31:28 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 3:

A little bit, yep.

02:31:29 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Well, see that? That's what happens. I'm telling you. That's what happens. You can get a Gatorade bottle going there. What's going on, Bill? Hi. Hey, how you doing? Good, Bill. What's up?

02:31:43 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 3:

I could write my full name in the snow. Wait, Barry, what is your full name? This is insanity.

02:31:49 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 4:

Like William? Bill Allen. Bill Allen.

02:31:52 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:31:56 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 4:

Bill Allen. That's amazing.

02:31:59 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 3:

No William, no William. Oh, my God. If I find Wes in the backyard writing Wes Willem in the snow today, this dang topic.

02:32:07 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Well, it's funny that you say that because Misfit Victor is on the phone with us right now, and Misfit Victor can write Misfit Victor in the snow. I've seen it.

02:32:18 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but hey, it's funny you brought this topic up. I just found an Instagram page that I just texted to you, Mojo. It's called long-distance peeing, but not the word peeing. It's whatever. But people post videos on there all day, like where they'll be standing on their sink in the bathroom, like aiming into the toilet.

02:32:41 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. This is great. Oh, my God.

02:32:43 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable. It's one of the best pages I've ever followed.

02:32:46 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. I'm sending it to all you guys so we can send this to Wes, Shannon. This is fantastic. Wait, have you ever done that before, Bill? Have you ever done a long-distance pee where you stand like five or six feet back from the urinal and pee into it? Bill?

02:33:04 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

Or the outhouse?

02:33:06 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 4:

Where's Bill at right now? What are you doing, Bill? We in his pocket. No, I... Oh, I think we lost Bill. Oh, my God, this is the greatest. Look at these guys long-distance streaming. I don't want to. Seriously, no, no, check it out. What is it? Look how far you are. Are you seeing private parts? No, you're right there.

02:33:30 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness.

02:33:34 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 4:

Victor, we're doing this. It's like for the free throw line.

02:33:37 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 2:

There are 53,000 followers to this account.

02:33:40 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Forget the turkey shoot. We're doing long-distance streaming for a contest. Thanks, Victor, for sending that. I appreciate it. All right, we'll give you a shot at Kendrick Lamar and SZA tickets. The word to enter to win is Mustard. Text Mustard to 95500, M-U-S-T-A-R-D to 95500 for a chance to win. Text to win tickets to see Kendrick Lamar, SZA. The show is in June at Ford Field. Going to be some good shows at Ford Field. I'll tell you what. These are expensive tickets, too. I don't know if you see the price of these tickets. Everything at Ford Field is expensive right now, right? Oh, wow. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, speaking of getting a chance to go to Ford Field, we want to give you a chance to go to Saturday Night's game. And we got a big story that broke this morning, actually broke last night. Our contest, the headstand contest that we were going to do, which is the most famous probably touchdown celebration ever in NFL history our attorneys called and said you can't do it they told us that we could uh

02:35:00 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 3:

This is no stand-ins. So if you call in, it has to be you that comes down here. Gets your hair dyed blue. All right.

02:35:48 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, so if you want somebody else to do this.

02:35:51 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 2:

Better have them call.

02:35:51 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, none of this. My husband's going to do it, you know, or I'm going to make my kid do it. By the way, making your kid do it, that is child abuse. so we will not stand for it. You think our attorneys aren't going to be saying that that's not?

02:36:04 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 2:

Smith would love to have blue hair, though.

02:36:05 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 3:

Would he?

02:36:05 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:36:06 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 3:

Smith could actually pull off blue hair. He'd look great. He would love it. All right, so, again, this is for Friday morning. You've got to be able to come down here to the studio. It's going to take a little effort. Katrina from Six Salons is going to come in and do it, so it's going to look nice. And if you're a true Blue Lions fan, you'd be willing to do this thing. So, again, call 844-MOJO-LIVE. All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:36:29 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 2:

It ends with us actor and director Justin Baldoni and his legal team are now demanding Marvel and Disney preserve evidence related to, quote unquote, anticipated claims against Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Marvel and Disney both received a request from Baldoni's attorney and the docs say that they want a few different things saved. Among them, any and all documents relating to a deliberate attempt to mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate, or bully Justin Baldoni through the character of Nice Pool. And last week, I played for you a couple of clips from the movie where it seems like that may have been the case. Now, this move comes as Justin Baldoni himself is in this legal battle with Blake Lively, his co-star in the movie. It ends with us and amid allegations that Ryan may have mocked Baldoni in Deadpool and Wolverine, which was released by Disney over the summer, I think back in July. So we'll see where this goes. I mean, now there's a lot of people and a lot of companies involved in this feud. L.A. police have arrested four people on arson charges for allegedly trying to ignite new fires as firefighters continue to fight the blazes that have taken the lives of 25 people so far. This is L.A. Fire Chief Kristen Crowley.

02:37:46 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 1:

We are taking an aggressive lean-forward posture, and the LEFD has staffed all available resources strategically placing fire patrols and engines in the unimpacted high-fire risk areas in the city.

02:38:01 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 3:

They should be locked up. Oh, yeah.

02:38:04 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they will be. I mean, between the looters and this and people, it's just, like I said, the people stealing from the cars that are parked as families try to evacuate, it's awful. Yesterday, some good things happening. I saw Paris Hilton, who lost her own home in Malibu because of the fires, announced that her nonprofit, 1111 Media Impact, raised $800,000 in emergency relief funds in just 72 hours. And Jay Leno has been driving his vintage fire truck all over the place to feed first responders. This is him chatting with Anderson Cooper about that.

02:38:36 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 4:

What you came by to drop off some supplies. Well, we're cooking for the crew. Well, you guys, if you're hungry, we've got a big barbecue going. because, you know, they're all getting boxed lunches. We figure, let's get some hot food. So it's kind of fun. I drove a 1941 American LaFrance fire truck. So the guy's got to... You brought your own fire truck? I brought my own fire. It's good to have your own fire truck when you live in L.A.

02:38:58 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 2:

That was kind of a rough joke there at the end.

02:39:01 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 4:

It sounds weird.

02:39:02 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 2:

Winds in the L.A. area, by the way, are expected to reach up to 70 miles per hour today. We have some breaking dirty about Meta, Instagram and Facebook. Instagram has gone down across the U.S. There's some sort of service connection that is not working. Facebook is also experiencing issues. So it's a developing story. I don't have many more updates except for that. But if something's up with your Instagram and Facebook, no, it's not just you.

02:39:29 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 3:

It's TikTok taking it down. It's a worldwide marriage. Preparing you. Oh, a little social media warfare. There's a little warfare going on here.

02:39:37 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And lastly, that topic about pee was so popular. Let's keep it going. Experts have ranked the nine beverages most likely to make you pee the most. Doctors said that a beer or a glass of wine, excuse me, is most likely to make you pee because alcohol disrupts hormones that normally suppress urine production. That means your body.

02:40:00 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 1:

body is producing more urine if you have beer or wine. Energy drinks like Monster, Red Bull, your new love, Celsius, Megan, followed close behind as their high caffeine from stimulants can irritate the bladder and then reduce bladder control. Coffee and tea tie for third in terms of making you have to go. Meanwhile, decaf coffee and smoothies are the least bathroom break-inducing drinks as they're made with low acidic ingredients. That makes me have to do number two. They don't disrupt your bladder. So if you need to hold it for a couple of hours, Just decaf coffee in a smoothie.

02:40:31 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when we've gone to these Lions games, I don't want to stand in that long line and then have to miss like an entire quarter. So you should see me, man. I'm like a camel trying to hold mine. It's craziness there. Hold on real quick before you end it. Let's get some winners here.

02:40:46 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 4:

All right, show in the morning, fans. Wake up, grab your coffee, and let's get ready to do what we do. Come on. Forward down the field. A charging team that will not yield. And we're the blue and silver wave. Let's go. Stand and chew the break Bow, bow, bow Go hard, win the game With honor, you will keep your fame Down the field in game Alliance, be tall, leave Goal, let's go

02:41:19 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 2:

02:42:06 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm all for it. I was thinking about doing it myself, but I don't know how to do that, so. You know what?

02:42:12 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

Perfect opportunity. This is good. And possibly go to the game, courtesy of House of Hummus. Hang on one second. And we gotta get a woman in this one, too, before we end. Jennifer,

02:42:21 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 1:

02:42:23 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer, you're willing to do this to that beautiful head of hair of yours?

02:42:27 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 1:

I am.

02:42:28 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 2:

You're crazy. I don't know. I'd watch that thing on Fox 2. You know what I mean? I wouldn't be doing this thing. Well, you know what? Where are you from?

02:42:39 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 1:

Dearborn Heights.

02:42:40 - 02:42:45 | Speaker 2:

You're going to be the biggest Lions fan in Dearborn Heights if you win this, and you're going to be at that game if you win this, okay?

02:42:46 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 1:

Sounds good.

02:42:47 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the morning, live.

02:43:24 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 2:

y'all gonna make me lose my mind up in here up in here y'all gonna act me or act a fool up in here up in here mojo in the morning uh i cannot look at a a friend or friends the same anymore after what i found out yesterday oh i love these stories no these stories aren't good they're not good because you can't just say this you can't just let the cat out of the the what is it what's the cat out of the bag yes you can't just let the uh pandora out of the box uh you can't just tell you something and then think that you're going to look at this person or people in this case the same anymore i just can't do this i just don't like it i don't like when you find out that friends of yours are freaky like i want i want to think that my friends are all just nice normal people from oakland township or oakland county you know um and when i say this to you i say this to you not ever trying to slut shame because i love sluts so i just want everybody i just want you to know that there ain't nothing wrong so i gotta i gotta tell you this i um i was hanging out with a friend and And we were having a conversation, and I was blown away to find out that she and her husband had one of these crazy nights. And you tell me if you would ever want to know your friends did this. They were hanging out with two other friends, very good friends of theirs, and they're hanging out drinking. And one thing led to another, and then they ended up in the shower. The girls, I guess, ended up showering, okay?

02:45:31 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Together?

02:45:32 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Together, yes. Yeah, like not going to separate showers, but showering together.

02:45:36 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:45:37 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 2:

And then she's telling me that the guys were just sitting and watching like a game or something in the other room while the girls are going to shower. I don't even know what. Like if Chelsea says, hey, I'm going to leave and Jessica and I are going to go shower, I'm following. You know what I mean? Like I'm just going to see even if I can be a perv and watch, you know? Like I'm like, okay. I've never heard Chelsea say, I'm going to go shower with a friend. I'm like, I want to see what's happening here. These guys, I guess, were just hanging out. They were just hanging on the couch. So the girls were like, oh, this is fun. And I guess they didn't do anything with each other or anything like that. They just showered. Then they went and got the guys and said, hey, let's bring the guys in here. And they went and said, hey, why don't you guys come in here? And I guess there was a little bit of reticence to doing that. And then they finally, I don't know, grabbed their hands or whatever and said, let's go. And then the guys ended up going into the shower, which might be a little weird. I don't know if I want to see my buddy in the shower. Like, I went to an all-guys Catholic school. I never wanted to shower in front of the guys that were my teammates. Like, I hated that. I actually was the guy that brought the towel all the way into the shower and, like, hung it up on a fake hook that was in there because I just didn't want to have it, like, far away. I didn't have anything to show off, but I just didn't want anybody to know that. so one thing leads to another and the next thing you know the girls and the guys convinced the guys that they should swap and they should all go and do this and i said all right you guys are swingers because i hear these stories about swingers they're like they she promised they're not swingers we

02:47:11 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 1:

are not swingers this was just like a one-time yeah they're not a one-time so it ended up turning

02:47:17 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 2:

into, I ended up turning into the, uh, they were, you know, a swap, like a wife swap type thing or a husband swap type thing. And after you say that, I'm like, all right, I don't know if this is crazy. Like to me, that's like, that's, you know, albeit it seems really interesting and fun, but albeit, I don't think that I could ever participate in that. And the reason I don't think I could ever participate in that is twofold. Number one, I would be so like really having a hard time if my wife was with another guy and enjoying it because I would worry that oh god she's enjoying it more than she's enjoying it with me and then second fold I don't want my friend's wife to know how disappointing I am you know what I mean

02:48:07 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 1:

they were like in the same room doing this like then you're watching there's so many different parts of that that i couldn't do holly what's up hi you guys i just want to know how big is the shower you know

02:48:21 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 2:

i did that's a great question i didn't ask that question i should have asked that question

02:48:25 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 1:

yeah right it's a good question like that's a great question to know like what's the square

02:48:32 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 2:

footage of the shower you know right yeah i like i would love to know um i i don't know uh Let me see. Hold on a second.

02:48:42 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 1:

You about the X?

02:48:44 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. How do you spell voice disguise? Voice disguise? G-U-I-S-E. Yeah. I don't know. I just did it. Actually, if you want to know how to spell it, it's V-O-I-C-E and then a separate word D-I-S-G-U-I-S-E. Yeah, that's what I said. That's all right? Okay. I was seventh in the state in the first grade. Were you really? Spelling me. I went to States, bro. I was out here. All right. Spell. I lost on breathe, bro.

02:49:11 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what I was thinking. Let's not talk about you and your spelling bee in this topic. It just feels very weird to me.

02:49:17 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 2:

So they did this. And here's a question I'm going to ask. I'm going to throw this out there. I would love to know, I would love to honestly know, who are not swingers but have done this with their spouse and have never told anybody about it? Because honestly, I would love to know if you are somebody that has done this and done it with your spouse, like how do you convince each other to do this but these are swingers this is like saying i'm

02:49:43 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 1:

looking for a virgin who's had sex but you're a virgin you can say you're a virgin but you've had

02:49:48 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

sex um i i get it but if you're not practice how about this a non-practicing swinger you know what i mean you don't identify as a swinger i don't

02:50:00 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes, well, I don't know, because that also, you could be identified as, but I guess it, yeah, yeah. Man, that is, to me, it was just, it's wild, because when I see people that do this, like, these people are good-looking, nice people. Like, they're, you know, they pay taxes.

02:50:17 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 4:

With a big shower. They pay taxes.

02:50:19 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 3:

Usually the people that I think that do stuff like this, I honestly think that they, you know, they're wild. Like, they're, you know, they're, like, hippie, long hair, you know, stuff like that. I don't know. Why do I always picture that? Because I've seen people, and no offense to you because you're probably some listeners, I've seen some of you that say that you guys swing or do this. Oh, hold on. This is great. She said I don't have to voice this geyser. Oh, I'll own that, girl. That's what I'm talking about. Stand on business. Hold on a second. Let me read it first to make sure. You don't have to voice this geyser. Okay, perfect. All right, here we go.

02:50:55 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh my goodness. Really?

02:50:57 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is craziness. I'm going to tell you guys something right now.

02:51:01 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 4:

Do we know who this person is?

02:51:02 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so, because I don't think you guys have ever met.

02:51:05 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:51:05 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 3:

But it's somebody that is close to our family. We go to church together. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. By the way, people who go to church do this, too. I'm telling you.

02:51:21 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 2:

They might.

02:51:22 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, people who go to church.

02:51:25 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

02:51:26 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 3:

Anonymous friend. I won't say your name, though. She said, no voices, guys? I don't need a voice, guys?

02:51:32 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 1:

No, it's okay.

02:51:33 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So I was, first off, I can't ever look at you the same way again. I'm like, you know, now I'm like sitting there, I'm bashful. So you say that in the text that you just sent me, this was a one-time thing? You've never done this ever after this?

02:51:50 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 1:

Never again. It was one time.

02:51:52 - 02:51:57 | Speaker 3:

and what what was it first off how big was the shower holly wanted to know how big was the

02:51:57 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 1:

shower that you guys went into it was a very small shower and this was all happening in that shower there was nothing that happened or like oh no it it started in the shower very briefly and made its way to a guest room and then it was just it was it was a free-for-all everybody was

02:52:16 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 3:

having a great time how how did you guys decide that it wasn't going to be the spouses staying together but it was going to be you guys going with the other good question oh well we i we never

02:52:28 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 1:

really all separated it wasn't entirely a swap everybody was definitely involved i mean the girl the men were not involved with each other but we were all involved with each other at some point okay and it was it was spicy but the men were a little surprised everybody was pretty boozed up and it was just a fun one-time spontaneous thing and it made for great stories and great conversation later and it never was weird you know we saw the friends again plenty of times after

02:52:59 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 4:

you're kidding me so that was my next question did you wake up the next morning and go oh

02:53:03 - 02:53:36 | Speaker 1:

crap like that should not have happened um no but I woke up and it was like funny we all went out to like a brunch like a hangover brunch the next day no way okay and it was I mean it was funny and we still see them to this day and it's never every now and then maybe a joke will fly but there's never been like a line crossed and never really I don't necessarily care to do it again but I'm glad that we did it it was fun it was spicy what do you mean by you're glad you did it what

02:53:36 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 3:

Did it do anything for you guys personally as a couple?

02:53:41 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. For me, it was more what it did for our marriage and our sex life together after. It like woke up the beast a little bit more. It made us way more fiery with each other. That's so interesting.

02:53:58 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 2:

Has your husband ever brought it up again to try and do it, even though you say you weren't that interested?

02:54:05 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 1:

It's nice. I mean, we definitely, I would be open to maybe again, but it's hard to come across a spontaneous experience like that that's also with a person or people that you can trust. Yeah. I just think that that's so rare.

02:54:20 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 3:

What would you have done, and maybe, you know, there is a little bit of this, but what would you have done if you looked over at your husband and he had a look on his face that was happier than the look that he has when he's with you? Question.

02:54:32 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's the thing. I think that a lot of it was actually that he was, he was happy that I was enjoying it too. It was very reciprocal.

02:54:41 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so were you, so did you ever worry about how your look was so that he didn't think you were enjoying it too much?

02:54:47 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Um, no, definitely wasn't thinking about anything besides, holy crap, we're really doing this.

02:54:54 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 3:

That is nuts. Wow. Well, I got to tell you, you guys have, uh, you got to, you know. It's a fun little thing that you do, Shannon, you and Wes. Got any friends hanging out this weekend? Do you have any friends that you would think of it with at all or no? No. Can you imagine if all your friends are going to come over now from now on and they're all going to think of this phone call here right now? All right. Well, thank you for sharing with us. And would you call yourself a swinger because what you did was swinging, but would you say you're a swinger?

02:55:27 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm not a swinger. It was one time.

02:55:30 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 3:

So it's a one-time, one-and-done. That's it.

02:55:33 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 4:

That's what they all say. One-and-done.

02:55:35 - 02:55:40 | Speaker 3:

What was the water pressure like in that shower? Oh, my God.

02:55:40 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't think I actually got any water.

02:55:42 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's crazy. All right. Well, thanks for having the courage to go on the air with us. We appreciate it.

02:55:48 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:55:49 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you guys. Hold on. Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on?

02:55:54 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 5:

Hey, everybody. So my experience was a little bit different than that last caller. um so heavily drinking christmas party friends were over blah blah blah um the husband and i my friend's husband and i were in the garage smoking and talking and just you know whatever and my now ex-husband and my friend were in the house and i don't know how there started but they started kissing and then came out to the garage and kind of told us about it and my friend was telling me um that he they had been swinging a couple of times oh boy and hey you want to try it i mean we're all so trashed um so yes we did my um husband and i uh we were in our house and took him to one went to our bedroom and we went to the kids playroom Oh, my God.

02:56:45 - 02:56:46 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:56:47 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 5:

But it wasn't the two-bedroom. It was the playroom, so, yeah.

02:56:53 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 3:

Your kids never actually played in that room ever after that. Hopefully, you guys disinfected.

02:56:59 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 5:

Well, of course we did, and they didn't know. They were young, but ours was a bit different because we – I didn't have a – well, I'll say this. I didn't have a great experience. however we did do it a couple more times with the same couple um once all four of us were in the same bed together um gosh i really hope all the kids are at school now geez so but like it turned out fine and i'll use that in big quotation marks so we did it a couple of times um i didn't care to do whatever again so i haven't um my we're all divorced now my friends are divorced but they were swingers for a while and they still kind of have that lifestyle.

02:57:40 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

02:57:41 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 5:

My ex and I are divorced and yeah, it was fine.

02:57:45 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 3:

Your divorce wasn't because of infidelity, was it?

02:57:49 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 5:

No, like the other caller, it kind of opened their eyes to some things and made their relationship better. But our relationship, it was very detrimental. Like I realized how much I wasn't in love with my husband and how much I wanted to experience more. Oh yeah, it was terrible. so was it because of it yeah maybe kind of but be careful what what happens i'm telling you you

02:58:12 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 3:

open up that uh moment and then like you just said all of a sudden you realize that other person might have made you realize that you're with the wrong one initial a what's up it's mojo in the

02:58:24 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 2:

morning your voice is cast hi um yeah i've done this in the past like years ago with a guy that I was dating, and I was mutual friends.

02:58:36 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Okay. And you keep the secret? Do you tell people about it or no?

02:58:42 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 2:

No, I haven't told anybody.

02:58:44 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it weird to talk about it right now? It's got to be, right? I'm free.

02:58:48 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 2:

I mean, this was probably 10, 15 years ago.

02:58:51 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:58:52 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 2:

And everybody's broken up. So, I mean, it's not super weird.

02:58:56 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever do it with your committed relationship that you're in now?

02:58:59 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 2:

um no i'm married now and i'm like more selfish like no i can't i don't i don't i wouldn't do it

02:59:08 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 1:

again did you ever do it with the guy that wasn't your boyfriend at the time the guy that you like hooked up with that one night after everybody was broken up uh no okay because that would worry me

02:59:20 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 3:

like that would be the thing that would worry me if i was in one of these things i would instantly start thinking okay this is where it's going to end up leading to you guys are going to end up having a relationship away from each other and i guess if they all the rules are there i mean unspoken rules that you guys don't do it without each other but uh the one last one sandra you there hi yeah i'm here you're not you say you're not a swinger is that right or no no no i'm just

02:59:47 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

saying like you know how she said she like had that that one experience but she's not a swinger yeah i mean i i don't really fully understand that but maybe she's trying to say like you know how some people are like a girl will say, oh, I'm not a lesbian, but she like.

03:00:00 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 1:

like sexual intercourse with a girl but then she's not a lesbian like it was you know how she kept saying it's a one-time thing yes yeah no maybe she's like relating it to that i don't know

03:00:08 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 2:

it is interesting could you ever see yourself doing this sandra no i feel like once you do it

03:00:14 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 1:

it's like now when they see other couples it's like do they have an idea like oh like we should maybe like try it again you know i feel like that since they've experienced it before they're like maybe like oh okay maybe one more time and then probably that learned that'll turn into swinging

03:00:28 - 03:00:51 | Speaker 2:

I would be there the whole time, and I would wait for Chelsea to give me her reaction to it. And if her reaction to it was negative, I'd go, yeah, you're right. That was horrible. Like, I don't think I'd be honest. I really don't. I think I would have a hard time doing that because I would be so afraid, right? That's a smart move, though. Well, whatever you guys got plans for this weekend, there's now new things that you can think about doing.

03:00:51 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 4:

Today's forecast is, holy crap, I can't feel my face. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's the second date update. I'm Mojo in the morning.

03:01:00 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 2:

It's awkward. All right, we're going to find out what's going on. Jake is on the phone with us right now. Jake, say hi to Amanda.

03:01:52 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hey. How's it going, guys? It's going good.

03:01:56 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Amanda.

03:01:58 - 03:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Jake, we're on the radio right now, okay? And Amanda's on with us, and we're doing a thing we do called the second date update. And Amanda, she entered in to try to get on and find out why she's not getting a call back. First off, I got to just ask you guys a question. How was the date? Like, where did you guys do, and what did you guys do, Amanda?

03:02:19 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 3:

well so yeah we just it was like a really it was a really nice time we um ended up going for uh dinner and then we had so much fun that we ended up like hanging out for drinks and it was really really nice like i thought it was a really great time um i don't know i feel i don't So you can't figure it out.

03:02:45 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Jake, what's going on? Jake, why are you not calling her back?

03:02:51 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I mean, it was a great date. I don't know. I think maybe I was just a little anxious to send some anxiety about going forward after the first date. I don't know.

03:03:06 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 2:

Why is that? Why did you have anxiety?

03:03:08 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 5:

i mean i maybe it was just too i felt too good to be true i mean we really we hit it off and i just you know after being divorced and getting back into things it's like it's not easy you know

03:03:23 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 2:

is there something that would keep you from continuing to date amanda and just getting

03:03:27 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 5:

to continue to get to know her i mean no yes and no what's the yes um Um, well, I mean, we, we kind of have something in common that, uh, I'm nervous about. What is that?

03:03:47 - 03:03:49 | Speaker 2:

If you don't mind us asking, if you don't mind sharing with us.

03:03:51 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 5:

So I found out that, uh, that our kids go to the same school.

03:03:57 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. How old are your kids?

03:04:01 - 03:04:03 | Speaker 5:

Um, they're, they're both in high school.

03:04:03 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So your kids go to the same high school. And Amanda, you guys didn't know that until the date? Or was it after the date that you guys figured that out?

03:04:12 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we kind of, I mean, I actually thought that was, I mean, that's where I feel like we connected a little bit. Like, yeah, we found out on the date, but I didn't realize that was, like, a bad thing. I was like, this is actually, like, kind of cool. Yeah.

03:04:27 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 2:

You guys could drop the kids off together. Or I guess they're in high school. They probably don't need to be dropped off. Or would it be weird for your kids? Is that what you're thinking, Jake?

03:04:36 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 5:

yeah i mean i just i i don't know i just didn't want to like throw my son into that and like i i just i didn't want to just dive into this full on and then and then just say like hey this is what's going on and then he's like embarrassed or

03:04:53 - 03:05:13 | Speaker 1:

i'm dating so and so's mom right i yeah i could see that can i ask you guys a question you guys We went out just for dinner and drinks. Did anything more happen with you guys? Did you guys go back to one of your homes? Mm-hmm.

03:05:14 - 03:05:16 | Speaker 5:

There might have been some after-hours activities.

03:05:16 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, where did you guys go? That's a nice way to put it. Where did you guys go, Amanda? We went back to my place, actually. So you went back to your house, the kids weren't home, and you guys were just being kids, weren't you? I mean, yeah, basically. Yeah. So, okay, so here's the thing. So Jake is a little now uncomfortable with the fact that he's going to have to tell his kids or would have to tell his kids that he's dating one of their, you know, friends from school or somebody that they...

03:05:47 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Or maybe not friends from school. His parent.

03:05:51 - 03:06:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't... Yeah, I just feel like... Would that be weird? I'll ask this question if that's ever happened to anybody or if you would think that would be weird. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Would it be weird as a divorced mom or dad to start dating somebody and then to know that that person is a mom or a dad of one of the kids that your kid goes to school with? I think that would be pretty wild. I actually think this is a reality show in itself.

03:06:26 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 3:

But I think it's not uncommon.

03:06:27 - 03:06:28 | Speaker 1:

No.

03:06:28 - 03:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know it's not uncommon at all.

03:06:30 - 03:06:32 | Speaker 1:

Have you known anybody at all? Because I have not. Oh, yeah. Really?

03:06:32 - 03:06:42 | Speaker 3:

I know. I shouldn't say tons, but I know several now married couples that their kids go to the same school. I went to school with kids, too. Yeah. Did you really? Yeah.

03:06:43 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Did the kids like that, though? Because I could just picture. I'm thinking of all the kids that are friends of ours that their parents are divorced. I could see them being upset by that.

03:06:52 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 3:

It could go either way. It could be a really, really great thing, or it could be a really bad thing. You could say that about anything. Right.

03:06:58 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 1:

But as a kid, I don't necessarily think you want to know that your mom or dad is dating, you know, Joey's, you know, parent or something like that, you know, or whoever the kid is. I remember when one of my best buddies got in our couple friends got divorced. And I remember I had people that would reach out to me on both, both men and women going, hey, I heard so-and-so's got divorced. Yeah. Yeah. Do you think they're ready to start dating? I'm like going, wait a second, man. That is like crazy how fast the people like, because when you're a single parent, sometimes you don't just take that time. You want to be able to get back on the thing because you think you're not going to be able to do that. But hold on a second. Let me grab some calls here. Brooke, what's happening?

03:07:43 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I am a high school teacher. and was dating one of my, not on purpose, but I was dating a guy. And then his son was in my class.

03:07:53 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 3:

See, that to me is really tough. Like, that would be so hard if I knew that my parent were dating my teacher.

03:08:01 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Was it awkward for him to know that?

03:08:04 - 03:08:08 | Speaker 5:

I don't think he knew. So it was awkward for me, but he had no idea.

03:08:08 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 1:

When did you realize that he was a dad of one of the kids?

03:08:16 - 03:08:49 | Speaker 5:

Um, well, I, so I, uh, was set up with him by a mutual friend. And so we were, um, we started talking for quite a while. And so his son had gone to the middle school that feeds into high school where I work. So I knew that, but then I didn't know that things were going to, you know, progress at all. And then he was in my class and he was like, Hey, am I stumped in your class with his buddies? And I'm like, yeah, that's not, no, thank you. So it was super awkward, but he ended up switching out actually. So I was, like, really, really happy because every day I felt super awkward starting class and having him just, like, watch me.

03:08:50 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Right. Thanks for the call. I appreciate it. Kristen, what did you want to say?

03:08:56 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So I just wanted to say, isn't it worse for the kids if he's thinking about, you know, what his kids think and how that could be uncomfortable for us? Like, what if her kid found out that her mom got ghosted by her, you know, classmate or whatever? And it's not worse than, like, getting, you know, like, uncomfortably dating or with respect.

03:09:18 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 1:

If somebody ghosted my mom, I'd beat that kid's ass just to show that dad he should never do that again, right? Take care of business there. Shay, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. Amanda went on a date with Jake. Now they have the awkwardness of the fact that their kids go to high school together. What do you want to say?

03:09:37 - 03:09:58 | Speaker 4:

He is reading way too much into it. It's high school. there's like how many kids in the high school it's not like it's a little elementary school where there's you know a few kids i literally dated a guy that i met it was the first time i dated after my divorce actually and we met at the school our kids went like across the hall from each other the kids didn't care they thought it was cool yeah you know what actually is good about

03:09:58 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 1:

your kids going to high school together I don't know.

03:10:00 - 03:10:03 | Speaker 3:

You have the same break times, so you get the same February break, spring break.

03:10:03 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 4:

Vacations are easy.

03:10:04 - 03:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You can all go together on vacation. Hey, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. He is probably reading too much into it. Miranda, what's up? Hi.

03:10:13 - 03:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. I think he's just embarrassed to be seen with her now, you know, around the kids and everything. If she was hot, I don't think he'd care as much.

03:10:23 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm not feeling that bad one. That's crazy. I don't know. I don't know. That's a little, I feel bad when you're saying that. Annie, what's up?

03:10:33 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I just wanted to talk about that my dad used to date some girls' parents at my school. And it was just always so weird because, I mean, I'm going to be honest. He might be a bit, he might talk to a lot of women, but he just, he like just talked to a bunch of girls at my school.

03:10:56 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 3:

Wait, your dad was a player with the parents of the girls that you went to school with?

03:11:02 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 1:

Like, basically. And it was a lot of my friends' parents. And, like, I mean, he wasn't, like, weird. Like, he would just tell me that their parents are, like, pretty or whatever. But, like, still, it was, like, weird. I don't know.

03:11:20 - 03:11:28 | Speaker 4:

Women love dads, especially involved dads. when they see you at the school and they see how you're handling your son or your daughter, they be on.

03:11:28 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Are you speaking from experience? For sure. Wow. They be looking, they be choosing. Annie, were there any girls that you hated in school that your dad ended up fooling around with their mom?

03:11:39 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 1:

No, not necessarily. Like, no, but, like, a lot of them, I just feel, there was a time period where I was, like, in a group chat and they were texting about my dad, like, basically calling him a player and, like, coming at me, and I was like, yo, like, come on.

03:11:59 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Annie, your dad's over here right now in mom's bedroom. It's, like, crazy. All right, second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning.

03:12:08 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 5:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throw back, throw down. Second date update in War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:12:16 - 03:13:19 | Speaker 3:

You should see mojoswish.org just during the replay of the second date update a second ago. Looking at these entries have been huge. Why do you want to go and take your son, daughter, dad, mom, best friend, whoever it might be, to the game? the stories are great. Tell us a little bit more, you know, try to give us a little bit more info than just, I want to take my son. He's never been, I get it. Totally understand. But there's some people that have like really in-depth stuff there. So, you know, make sure that you go to mojoswish.org because tomorrow probably be the last day for entries because Friday morning we will be granting the wish to be able to go and use that rich dude's money. So we love him for this. And then secondly, dye your hair blue. Do we need more contestants, Lydia?
