I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, But it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be that you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years, were kind of not out of the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

It's also kind of some nasty weather in some of our listening areas, so be careful. It's going to continue. I saw the forecast for the weekend. It looks like this weekend we're going to get periods of snow. Could get up to 3 to 4 inches of snow on Friday into Saturday. So hopefully that doesn't affect anybody that's coming to town for the big game, the Lions versus the Commanders. Maybe it will affect the Commanders, and they won't be able to come to town, and they'll have to forfeit.

And I wake up to a phone call and I look at the clock and it says it's like, I want to say it was 7.30-ish maybe. And my dad's calling me. And my dad does not call me at nighttime. So I was like, I've overslept for work. So I pick up the call. He's like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. And my dad starts going, what's wrong? what's wrong? And I'm throwing on clothes and I'm like, I'm sorry. Um, what day is it? And he goes, it's Wednesday. That didn't help whatsoever. I didn't know what day it was to know if I was late or not. And I'm freaking out. And he goes, you dumbass, it's PM, not AM. I was like so out of it. And then you sit down with that adrenaline rush and you're still really confused. And I didn't know what was going on, but that, that was the night I had last night. I've had that. Have you

dirty on the 30. so starting off with tiktok tiktok's days in the u.s are numbered as all of us are very aware. Sunday at midnight is that magic time. Now, a couple of things here. President elect Donald Trump might issue an executive order that would suspend the tick tock ban that is scheduled to go into effect this weekend in a move that would prevent U.S. officials from enforcing that law for at least 60 to 90 days. So there would be a chance during that time period that it could be saved. But the timing is interesting, right? Because Trump's inauguration is monday one day after the nationwide ban is expected to be made official so i don't know how that's gonna work but again if the ban happens you would still be able to use tiktok but new downloads would be blocked and its software would slowly degrade over time because of a lack of

Nine people are dead from that Palisades fire. The Eaton fire was about 45% contained as of this morning. It has burned more than 14,000 acres. Officials have confirmed 16 are dead from it. And then if you look at the maps, there are lots of other smaller fires in between making for this devastating situation for Angelenos at the moment. So many displaced, so many with nothing. No home, no possessions. I saw yesterday that Leonardo DiCaprio, yes, he got a ton of crap for flying his private jet out of the fires. He did donate a million dollars toward wildfire relief efforts. He grew up in LA, if you weren't aware. And then Jennifer Lopez made a very large donation of her own clothing and accessories to those affected by the fires. A source of mine telling me it was a huge amount of stuff. Everything that she don't, I mean, it amounted to a fortune of what she donated. She also added in several boxes of her J-Lo beauty products and donated all of those.

And that piece of this lawsuit refers to, do you guys remember the shooting that happened at Drake's mansion after the song's release? Remember that? And the lawsuit called it the 2024 equivalent of the Pizzagate conspiracy, where there were so many things that were pushing it. And it just caused for chaos. So Drake says UMG knew the allegations were false. Otherwise, the company wouldn't have been in business with him since 2009. A spokesperson for UMG did fire back last night, writing, Not only are these claims untrue, but the notion that we would seek to harm the reputation of any artist, let alone one of our own, Drake, is illogical. They wrote throughout his career, Drake has intentionally and successfully used UMG to distribute his music to engage in conventionally outrageous back and forth rap battles to express his feelings about other artists. He now seeks to weaponize the legal process to silence an artist's creative expression and to seek damages from UMG for distributing that artist's music. Obviously, obviously talking about Kendrick. It's probably more expensive. maybe never again after this experience this silver nissan pulls up in front of my driveway and i look outside and there is a woman driving a guy in the passenger seat and two kids in the back seat oh it's a family affair wow i had the family uber so i so i walk up to the uber and tell me if this is supposed to be normal i walk up to the uber like ah and they're like yeah can can you sit back there next to our son? And I'm like, this is kind of weird. I had to get over there, and I'm like, this is crazy. I get in the car. I drive in the Uber. They drive me to the dealership, which is not that far away. It was like 15, 20 minutes away. I get to the dealership, and the person that's driving, which is the woman who is the Uber person, who I thought she was going to be by herself in the car, she says, hey, do you think you could tip me with cash?
