Megan who for those that don't know lives in the city and she lives in an apartment and she has told me from time to time that her apartment's really wild like she can you can hear the people that are out partying on the streets sometimes like when the Lions fans are going crazy. But you also said that your apartment is surprisingly quiet on the inside, I guess, huh?

00:04:16 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 6:

I get more noise from my windows than I do from my walls. It is really quiet.

00:04:20 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 4:

From the windows. My apartment is very quiet. To the sweat rolling down my balls. I wasn't going to say that. I got you. Go ahead, Megan. I'm sorry.

00:04:30 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

So I was a little bit shocked yesterday when I heard a lot of noise coming from another apartment because it has to be very, very loud in order for that to happen. And I thought, honestly, this might be retaliation. I was, no, not that kind of noise. There must have been some sort of retaliation because, let's be honest, I watched the Lions game pretty loud in my apartment. I was like, oh, maybe they're mad at me. Maybe they're playing something really loud to get back. And I walked towards my front door.

00:05:00 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

because I can only really hear any noise from the hallway when I'm near my front door. And I go there and I'm like, why are they blaring this music? And I'd love for you to start playing the clip now because it's very, very long and I want to get to the end of it. But this is what I'm hearing. And I realize when I hear the snap, oh, that's not music being played in the other apartment. It's like a rehearsal for a music group.

00:05:25 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, hold on. This is actually live music?

00:05:28 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is my neighbor.

00:05:28 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

00:05:29 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, it gets crazier. Right here. They have like a full platter. And they're like harmonizing? Wait. I hear this in my apartment. It's recording. No. Listen, because he'll start giving them instructions. So I get so into this. Wait, these are people in there singing. They're all harmonizing. Wait, I'm going to stop you for one second. No.

00:06:01 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to come back to it. So this, by the way, the acoustics in this apartment are unbelievable.

00:06:07 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, I went out to the hallway for this. I sat in the hallway for like 10 minutes listening to them rehearse. Until I realized it's probably a little creepy if they open up the door, but I'm just sitting there. I do the same thing. It was beautiful. That is amazing.

00:06:25 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Wait, it's very nice. But is it beautiful if you're trying to sleep?

00:06:30 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

What time was it? It's like 7 p.m.

00:06:31 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. How does this guy not get noise complaints? Because it's beautiful. Because it's beautiful. Wait a second. You're telling me. Please continue. Wait, now he's. Now he's. Wait. Did he just tell them something? He just told them something? Like he was a maestro in?

00:06:54 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And he just hit the most beautiful note. And I just literally sat out there for like 10 minutes just closing my eyes and had to get the wall. I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y'all, I want to dance, y' And this is the first time I've ever heard it. And I got more angry that they probably lost their rehearsal space. And somebody said, we'll just go back to my place. And I'm like, could you just rehearse there all the time? Like, don't rent a space. I'm not going to give you a noise complaint. Let me hang out and just listen.

00:07:55 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 2:

I think that, but I do, and I agree. It's wonderful.

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 1:

The way he says it is wonderful.

00:08:02 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

But this is where the curmudgeon in me comes into play. that wonderful is relative based on what you're doing. Like it's seven o'clock at night. If I want to take like an early nap or if I am trying to watch a nice movie in my apartment or I am, you know, trying to just have peace and quiet. I don't know if I necessarily want that.

00:08:27 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 1:

It was probably earlier than seven because if I'm being honest, I think I was asleep by 7 p.m. last night. So this might've been around six, but I remember right after this, I was like, oh, it's creepy if they open the door i saw or i heard somebody walking towards the door and i ran into my apartment um and i was like it's it's creepy that i'm sitting out here i went to put my laundry away when i was in my bedroom i couldn't hear them like i only heard them because i was near my front door

00:08:50 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

all right so here so here's a question for you 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if the noise is and this is if the noise is that if it's beautiful are you okay with it yes or are you still going I'm calling the apartment manager because I do not want to hear this because now you've just given this guy free reign. What if he's got a bad song in his repertoire? With that voice? Exactly.

00:09:16 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

With that voice? No such thing. I want to know what they're rehearsing for. Right?

00:09:20 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

It has to be like a theater something.

00:09:22 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I would rather hear that all night long than people having sex. Yeah.

00:09:26 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah. Okay, well. I really would. What's up, Chloe?

00:09:30 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Even if the sex is quiet sex, I'd rather hear that.

00:09:33 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Chloe? hi uh i was just saying that i that's what i want to hear every morning that was amazing and it gave me full body chills really so you thought that that sound was that noise was so beautiful that you would have been happy with that would you be happy with that if that came absolutely if that came at uh three o'clock in the morning when you're trying to sleep Thank you.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Maybe not 3 o'clock in the morning, but 7 p.m. like Megan said, I would be all for that. Give me that every single day. Right.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 6:

What night of the week was this?

00:10:09 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

Last night.

00:10:09 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 6:

Okay, what if this was when the Lions game was on? Would you be upset?

00:10:13 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 7:

My TV's probably going to be louder.

00:10:15 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 6:

Really? Yeah. That was loud. For you to hear that thing that loud?

00:10:18 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 7:

But I was sitting, here's what I will say. The only thing that sucks about my apartment are our doors. That's where the noise comes through is our doors. And I'm very lucky that I have an apartment in the front of my building. So I have a super long hallway from my front door to like my living space. I have to walk down a hallway to get to my area. And so I was just like putting my purse or something, my backpack for work by the front door in the morning. That's when I heard it. That's when I went into the hall and I sat next to this apartment door. That's why it's this loud. It wasn't this loud like in my living room.

00:10:52 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 6:

Erica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What do you think of Megan's loud neighbor?

00:10:58 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you know, I agree. They sound beautiful, but I still will complain because it is too loud.

00:11:03 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

No.

00:11:04 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 1:

It's just too loud.

00:11:05 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 7:

But it's not all the time, though. No.

00:11:07 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but even still, it's the same if you were watching a loud movie. That's not all the time either, but if someone complained, they would have that right because it was too loud at that time. Even though it's beautiful, it's still loud.

00:11:19 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 7:

I thought noise ordinances were like from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

00:11:22 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

What if you had a baby, though? Like, what if your baby was trying to sleep at that time? For sure, for sure. Ron, what's going on, Ron?

00:11:28 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Mojo? It's Ron, the peanut butter fudge guy.

00:11:31 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, hey, Ron. How are you? What's happening?

00:11:35 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 2:

I haven't talked to you in a year. I've been locked up. Oh, no, what'd you do, Ron?

00:11:40 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

Was it the peanut butter?

00:11:41 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 2:

The fudge. Yeah, the peanut butter guy. Yeah.

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

What did you do to get locked up?

00:11:47 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 2:

A couple DUIs. Oh, nice. Gotta lay off the fudge. I hope you learned your lesson, Ron. I wasn't drinking.

00:11:55 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 6:

Ticketfixpro.com, Ron. Ticketfixpro.com. What's going on?

00:11:59 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Nothing. Just glad to be out.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 6:

What do you think of Megan's loud neighbors?

00:12:08 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 2:

I'd call the cops or I'd go beat her on the door and take care of it myself.

00:12:12 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 6:

Why? Yeah, see, that's the prison talk.

00:12:16 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 2:

That's just how I am. I was in the Air Force, and that's just how I am. I don't put up with that kind of crap.

00:12:21 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 7:

And you just hate beautiful music.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:27 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 6:

Ron, what if the cellmate next to you is playing his music that loud? What's up, Jaden? How you doing? Hey, how's it going? Good, Jaden. What are you? Oh, Jaden, this is an interesting one. Jaden's got a loud neighbor next to him. And who is that loud neighbor?

00:12:45 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 3:

That's a high school marching band.

00:12:47 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I used to live near a high school. I loved it. Well, is it a good marching band program or a bad marching band program?

00:12:54 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

No, they're really good.

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 7:

It's so good.

00:12:57 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

Some of them are squeaky.

00:12:58 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's an apartment complex. And, I mean, they didn't mention it when we were moving in. But, yeah, I'll follow along. You'll hear the marching band. I love it. My neighbor doesn't, though.

00:13:08 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 6:

So, wait, do you hear the marching band, like, nonstop?

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, pretty much.

00:13:15 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 6:

What time of the day is that?

00:13:17 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I used to work remote. So, like, I would hear it almost all day long. Oh, my God. But now I just hear it, like, on Friday nights, super loud. And I'll open my sliding door because I love it so much. Wow.

00:13:28 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. To me, that would be, if I lived there and I had the marching band playing nonstop, I mean, I would be like, okay, hold on a second. The horn section is a little too loud for me.

00:13:40 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, they're super good, though, and they play, like, hit songs.

00:13:45 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 6:

How does that work? What was there first, the high school or the apartment complex? That's the thing you got to think about, right?

00:13:52 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know, but the apartments aren't newer, so.

00:13:55 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

We're all in this together. Once we know that we are, we're all stars and we see us.

00:14:03 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 6:

Can you imagine this every day?

00:14:05 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, if you would like a private cello concert, you could just come to my house.

00:14:11 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 6:

David, what's up?

00:14:12 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 4:

Fifth grader.

00:14:13 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 6:

00:14:13 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 5:

00:14:42 - 00:14:43 | Unknown:

00:14:43 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 5:

I really can't. I am sick, though. Come on. Let's hear it. I'll do. Let me think. I really can't, more joy. A little something from Wicked.

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, what's your go-to audition song?

00:14:58 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, honestly, I'm...

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm like a Britney Spears person in the morning.

00:15:04 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 3:

Hit me, baby, one more time. Even when you're sick, that's perfect for Britney voice.

00:15:09 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. It's not. It's horrible. I had COVID and pneumonia last week. Are you kidding me?

00:15:13 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

Come on, David. Don't make us. David. David. Come on. David. David. David. I'll tell you what.

00:15:21 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 1:

Next time I call, I'll sing it for you, okay?

00:15:26 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 3:

David. What? Boring. Boring caller alert. Boring caller alert.

00:15:32 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. We should have a talk to that.

00:15:33 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

I will owe you. I promise. I will owe you. I got you. No, we're done. We're done. Oh, my God. Yes. All right. Caitlin. Oh, my God. Caitlin. Caitlin, you do karaoke in your garage?

00:15:48 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 1:

I definitely do karaoke in my garage, and my neighbors definitely don't. Well, my neighbors to the right don't like me, and my neighbors across the street tell me to turn it up.

00:15:56 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 3:

I would, by the way, have the hardest time with that. Could you imagine that? Your neighbors are karaoke here.

00:16:01 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's funny. You guys had, like, an episode. It was probably last year. I never forgot it, and I think it was, I don't remember who was saying it, but they said they changed their router name to, like, make your dog shut up or something. Yes, yes. Oh, my God, that's funny. I changed my router name to noise ordinance is 7 to 11.

00:16:21 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. Oh, good. That's awesome. Thank you for the call. We appreciate you, Caitlin. Take care. Everything you need for just $15 a month, it's at Planet Fitness. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning, home of War of the Roses, second date update, and the Dirty on the 30. And Kevin from the show had something that happened when you were picking Josiah up at school.

00:17:05 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:17:06 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 3:

And what happened?

00:17:07 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

So I need y'all help to tell me which way to go about this, even if that way is to go nowhere at all. But Josiah is in academic gangs now. So when he used to get out of school at 320, they now get out at 5 o'clock. So I set an alarm, took a nap, woke up from my nap, left the house at about four or something like that to give me enough time to get there. Look at my phone while I'm in the car and I see like four missed calls from a number that's not saved. But the voicemail has a name and it's the same name for every missed call. So as I'm driving, I click it and it's a pause and I hear Josiah's voice. I'm like, oh, no, like four missed calls, same numbers, Josiah's voice. apparently academic games was canceled and he was calling me with more than enough time for me to hear the voicemail and be there at the proper time so he's just been standing out in front of the school or in the office and all of that so my mind is like well what type of communication did i receive from the school to tell me that it was canceled and why didn't i get that communication and so i'm i'm a little frustrated i'm a little angry but more than anything i'm like my son is there and i should have been there i feel like a bad father so when i get out of the car and run into the office i'm one track mind like i want to know make sure josiah is safe because regardless if your child is safe or not you don't feel like they're safe until you can physically see them with your own eyes so my my whole mindset is like let me go in there and put my eyes on my son make sure he's good and then let me address the office and figure out why wasn't i alerted so i'm in there i'm like i'm on i'm on i'm you know i'm focused so i go in there and i'm usually like what's up beautiful people when i go into the office i've been there a few times i'll be nice make sure everybody's good so when i walk in there it ain't none of that right i'm like josiah yeah but the office is like you did not tell us all the cool things you did you didn't tell us you were on the mojo in the morning show you do like they're all and i'm like that's nice but my real job is this guy right here i i despise you like i literally was like yeah but this is my job right here and why wasn't i notified i said sometimes i can be very diplomatic and figure out a nice way to use my words you're upset you're angry but then other times it's just straightforward and then when i got in the car i was like man i felt kind of rude joe i felt like he was like yeah you were kind of rude you totally ignored everything so i was talking to josiah's mom about this and with me being rude i wanted to figure out a way to tell the office that i'm sorry but i didn't want to like i wanted to be kind of organic in a way like i don't want to just walk in and say hey guys by the way i'm so sorry about how i acted so i was like let me just send them an edible arrangement like let me send the office an edible arrangement with the little card inside that you can type up and say hey apologies for the she was like nice gesture

00:20:00 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 8:

You know, you might be thinking what his mom is thinking. His mom is like, don't send an edible arrangement because that's sexual. And if it's what she said, if you send a woman fruit and she's, she did preface it by saying in her mind, it would be viewed as like, oh, he, he want to eat me. Oh my God.

00:20:22 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 7:

If you sending it to a group of women and you send some chocolate strawberries.

00:20:25 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I don't know what it is about edible arrangements. I don't know if it's that, Kev, or sexual. But, like, I think if you sent subs or lunch or some sort of, like. Donuts. Something to the office, even if it's food related. A sub would be very good. A sub is crazy. Oh, thank you. Well, I was thinking, like, I don't know if they're a thing here. Or, like, Jersey Mike. You can get those, like, half subs. Like, cater. Like, you could do that for all of the teachers and stuff. That's what I mean. Yeah, I get it. But something about an edible arrangement is weirdly intimate. I'm going to get a piece of cantaloupe. What's wrong with that?

00:21:01 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 4:

But it's like intimate. I don't know. I disagree with that. I think it's just, I'm not going to, nobody's going to get anything except for a piece of fruit on a stick. And so in my mind, it's not so much that you need to eat.

00:21:16 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 8:

Disappointment kickoff. It's the gesture. No. Don't. You know what I mean? It's me telling you I care.

00:21:20 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 6:

So go back. So, Josiah's mom said to you that she doesn't like the idea of you doing it, or she gives you the advice of don't do it, because it's sexual descent and edible arrangement.

00:21:32 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 8:

Right.

00:21:33 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 6:

That's an interesting thought. But I kind of get what Shannon's saying, where she's like, yeah, you know, when those things come in, it's like, who wants to eat a bunch of cantaloupe? You know what I mean? I like it. And a strawberry.

00:21:47 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 8:

I feel you. So, she gave me another option, though.

00:21:49 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 6:

I like Megan's idea of doing the lunch thing, because everybody loves lunch. That's too expensive. I'm not trying to feed everybody.

00:21:55 - 00:21:57 | Speaker 4:

I said donuts, and you didn't even acknowledge.

00:21:57 - 00:21:58 | Speaker 6:

Donuts is a great one, too.

00:21:58 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 8:

But I feel like a lot of people are, like, so conscious with the amount of sweets that they intake. I feel like a lot of people are like, donuts aren't the way to go. I don't know.

00:22:07 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 6:

That could be weird. What was your other option?

00:22:10 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 8:

So she was like, send them flowers. I'm like, bro, that's more romantic. That's exactly what I said.

00:22:15 - 00:22:26 | Speaker 5:

It depends on the flower. Like, I think, I mean, we are the home of war. The roses. roses are romantic but i uh i sent chelsea flowers recently and it was not a woman no that's woman

00:22:26 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 8:

a woman if a guy sends any woman a flower i think is romantic and if you can get into the well red roses are love and white roses are friendship and yellow roses like a flower is a flower at a certain point i feel like when a guy is giving it to a member but you're giving it to an entire

00:22:41 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 3:

office staff that they're just going to put on the front desk anyway and that's not a bad idea I don't like flowers. Yeah.

00:22:46 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 6:

Real quick before we get into what you should send or don't send. Did we figure out why you didn't get the correspondence of Josiah not having his thing?

00:22:55 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I didn't check my email. Oh, so it was your fault. They did send the email at like 1 p.m. I didn't realize that. So you came in blazing. I did.

00:23:02 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:23:03 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 8:

For people who didn't do anything wrong. That's why you're truly sending that. Who just runs to check an email like that? I don't know. I was expressing. I thought it was going to be a text message.

00:23:10 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 6:

Pam, what's going on?

00:23:11 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 2:

hey so kevin you shouldn't send anything a school should either call you or text you nobody checks emails all day long i don't think you should you owe them anything you're supposed to you were supposed to be angry your son was standing there forever it's not his own fault how long was he

00:23:32 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 6:

there i mean i didn't get him until five and he gets out of school at three so he was two hours in the front office? That's your fault. These ladies babysat for two hours, though.

00:23:40 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 2:

Who checks emails? Oh, no. No, no, no, no. Every 15 minutes.

00:23:45 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 5:

I will not tolerate this when I get so much flack for not checking my mail, and you don't check something that goes to your phone that's in your hand or on your body 24-7. Absolutely not. And then when you see who it's talking. I'm like, this is no.

00:24:01 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 6:

Schools, by the way, with our kids, our schools would always send an alert text out that's what i'm saying where's the robocall what's

00:24:09 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 1:

going on amanda hi uh so about the edible arrangement i had actually sent one to a co-worker's funeral before and i didn't think they were sexual but i'm thinking if people do find that sexual i'm like so glad i did not attend that funeral i know that would be weird wouldn't it yeah i never heard back so i maybe that's why that's that's interesting that people

00:24:34 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 6:

think that that's a sexual thing to do to send an edible arrangement i could see if the fruit was like bananas and that's chocolate covered strawberries and stuff like that what's up hey oh listen to that voice who's this this is bill hey bill what's going on hi bill

00:24:49 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

listen man you should absolutely send those incredible edibles i mean those things are amazing with any kind of apology okay now if his girl is

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 2:

talking about it sounds sexual to her, yeah, maybe you might send her some just for the hell of it.

00:25:05 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Bill, they should make edible arrangements for the people that own the weed shops. They should have... Oh, man.

00:25:18 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't that be a great idea? In case of the munchies, that's bad. You need to patent that dog. Man.

00:25:22 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 3:

Bill, can you do us a favor, because that voice is just so good. But could you say, it's just the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.

00:25:36 - 00:25:42 | Unknown:

Absolutely. It's the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.

00:25:42 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 2:

It's too perfect, man.

00:25:44 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 3:

Don't worry about your edible arrangements all your life.

00:25:49 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 2:

No, hit that Berry White.

00:25:51 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 3:

That is amazing, by the way.

00:25:52 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Bill, give me a little, you'll never find. You'll never find another love like mine. Wow.

00:26:03 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. All right, now try this one. Luke, I am your father. Luke, I am your father. Oh, my gosh. Wow. We need your number. You got to be a Mojo in the Morning Misfit. This is too good. We got to do it. Do me a favor. Say Shannon's Dirty is next. on Mojo in the Morning. Shannon Dirty is next on Mojo in the Morning. Wow, that's so great. By the way, why don't you just have Bill go over there and talk to these ladies?

00:26:37 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going to say Bill.

00:26:38 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. I have to ask the women of the show, and KP, you participate in this too from the other room, if you can. I want to know what your guys' thoughts are on this. I found out last night that a friend of mine who just celebrated their anniversary, they just celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary, which congratulations to them on their 10 years um Heidi and Steve Heidi uh very sweetheart Steve not so much but so here here is my question how would you feel if your guys ladies wrote you an anniversary card with some nice words in there and you found out later that they didn't write it ai wrote it for them oh no because steve told all of us that he wrote the anniversary card and had ai write it for him and when i heard that i'm thinking there is not a woman in this world that would find that to be a romantic moment to know that ai wrote your anniversary card i don't

00:27:42 - 00:28:08 | Speaker 5:

mind it because you're putting in the effort no and so many people don't even put in the effort at all yes and they know that they wanted it to sound good and maybe that's just not in their skill set and they want to do something nice and make you feel special so they went out of their way to ensure that it was written well or conveyed what they were trying to convey even if they couldn't come up with it but here's not mad at it i don't need it to be a pulitzer prize

00:28:08 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 4:

winning essay that you're writing in a card but i want it to be like what you actually have to say

00:28:16 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 5:

yeah but some people just aren't good at expressing that and if you care it should be perfect in order

00:28:21 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 1:

agree with shannon i feel like if i'm with you i already know that you can't talk so if ai is doing it it's probably gonna not sound like you so what's the difference from going to target and

00:28:30 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 4:

buying a hallmark card well this is right you write in it this is the writing in the card he

00:28:34 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

did buy a card so he bought a card and then wrote like i always will write chelsea i usually will write you know something about hey you gave me the greatest gifts of life you know my my kids blah blah and i'll always write about you know she makes me better blah blah the whole deal Actually, in a second here, I want to read for you what AI wrote as what I should give Chelsea and tell me if you think that this is actually a good one.

00:28:56 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 4:

But to KP's point, you know, when it's not in somebody's voice, like it doesn't sound like them. And then I'm like, well, you should have just went and bought a card and signed your name because it's essentially the same thing.

00:29:07 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 5:

OK, so now imagine somebody knows they lack a skill. They still are trying to give you a great experience and go out of their way to do extra steps to do that. and you say, I'd rather just not have a card or have a Hallmark card with your signature? No, neither. I'd rather have you write, like, what you feel like you want to say. But you still have to tell AI what you want to say in order for it to, like, write it for you.

00:29:29 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. He asked me four questions, and it was questions like Chelsea's favorite, you know, color. It was Chelsea. These are all things that he put into AI. What our favorite song is. Stuff about us personally. and here's what it came back with. My dearest Chelsea.

00:29:49 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 4:

You would never say that right there. Happy anniversary.

00:29:52 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

We've overcome so much together and stayed so strong through it all. You're my life, my love, my everything, which they stole.

00:30:00 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 2:

from my favorite song, which is the Michael Buble song, Everything. Here's to many more years of love and laughter. I cherish every moment with you. I love you endlessly. If I sent that to Chelsea, she would right away go, who just kidnapped my husband?

00:30:15 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 6:

Right, right.

00:30:16 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 2:

She would know right away that it wasn't me.

00:30:18 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 6:

It's offensive to do that.

00:30:20 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:30:20 - 00:30:22 | Speaker 6:

I really do. Yeah.

00:30:22 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 2:

I think so, too.

00:30:23 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 6:

Wes joked about, and he's like a decent writer, but he joked about doing that for our wedding vows. And I was like, that would, it would actually hurt my feelings.

00:30:33 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 3:

So what if you write, not that it will be the entire portion, but what if you do put song lyrics in there? Is that still cheating? That's the same thing as A.I.

00:30:43 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 6:

No, because you know it's song lyrics and you know it's not your words. So you think A.I. is them trying to pawn off their feelings? Pawn off their skill set.

00:30:50 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

You have to footnote it, though.

00:30:51 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 3:

Like Megan said, if he can't really figure out the right words to say it and he's not confident in what he says, he's wrong with you.

00:30:57 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 6:

Like, I know that about you. If I'm dating you, I know.

00:31:00 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 2:

So you just love you. Hey, Cooper.

00:31:03 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:31:04 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know.

00:31:04 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What do you think about AI writing your anniversary card?

00:31:09 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm for it.

00:31:12 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Are you also just lazy, is it? Partly, yeah. What do you think your girl would think if you gave her an anniversary card and wrote the personal note in AI?

00:31:23 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, if she found out about it, probably not too good.

00:31:26 - 00:31:30 | Speaker 2:

No. Yeah. Yeah, see, but you're for it because it saves you time, right?

00:31:31 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:31:32 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I get it.

00:31:33 - 00:31:34 | Speaker 3:

He's not one for words.

00:31:34 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't seem like a romantic kind of guy, yeah?

00:31:36 - 00:32:10 | Speaker 7:

Can I read you the one that I had it right? Because I think this is, it sounds like mojo and is pretty cute and shows you that it can be good. Dear Chelsea, happy 30th anniversary. It's hard to believe that you've put up with me for three decades. Truly a feat that deserves its own award. Your humor, patience, and unshakable compassion have not only kept me in line, but have also been the glue holding everything together. We've shared a lifetime of laughter, love, and probably more eye rolls than you can count. Thank you for being the calm to my chaos, the grace to my goofy, and the love that keeps me striving to be better every day. Wow, that's much better.

00:32:10 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 3:

What AI is that?

00:32:12 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 6:

You would never use those like truly feet and compassion. I know. Okay, so you have it right and you change three words. You change a few things.

00:32:18 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Sydney, what do you think? I don't know.

00:32:19 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 5:

hey uh i've used ai to write several cards to my parents even my fiance we just got engaged last weekend and i was writing him like a card that like saying thank you and i'm looking forward to our future but what i do is i use ai to just use it as a base and then i'll change words that are too big for my i would use and use it for a word that i would use so i custom make it so that way it's just kind of a rubric that's smart just because i'm not great at writing down my emotions

00:32:51 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 2:

not many guys though are that smart you know that's that's the thing and my buddy is not smart because what he wrote to his wife was not something that you know a guy that uh sells uh

00:33:03 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 5:

you know uh cell phones does so that's fair yeah i mean i've even i'm honest with my fiance though I've told him in the past, like, I'll use AI for things, and it doesn't bother him. But I've also, he knows that I custom it to make it, but it just helps me.

00:33:20 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 2:

Pretty soon, you're going to have AI sex. You got to watch out. It's going to happen. Kim Kardashian already there. What's up, Eric? Hi.

00:33:28 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. Morning. Good morning. I just turned 30 last Friday, and my brother sent me a three-paragraph text. um in the beginning of the first paragraph it said as you enter this new chapter of life and right there i was like yeah that what what do you like what do you say yeah so sydney had it right if you're going to use ai use it as a base and then change it to dumb it down a little bit so they think it because right away i was like kyle i love you but just say happy birthday next time that's funny by the way you

00:34:06 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

also got to make sure you pay for your ai so that it doesn't have the little tag at the bottom that says uh that this was written by ai whatever hey shelby what's up hi yeah my ex used to text me using ai and it was very obvious oh geez he sent you text with ai like what was the most interesting

00:34:25 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 4:

text he sent you well so she was dyslexic and would always mix up her words in our text but and randomly would send me these long messages with big words I knew she didn't know.

00:34:38 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Yeah. Oh, my God. By the way, I love it that people are willing to admit that they've done this before and also willing to admit that they caught their people doing it. What's up, Baby Leg Jay? Hey, hey, hey. What's going on, Pete? Are you sure you're not AI and we just don't know it? Nah.

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm original, not Christmas. I love it.

00:35:04 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:35:06 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't care too much for AI because, you know, that's like using the word love. You can tell me you love me all you want to, but you have to show me in order for me to feel it more.

00:35:17 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 5:

Whoa. Wait, you got that off AI, didn't you? No.

00:35:22 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 3:

I got a heart.

00:35:24 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 5:

I got a heart. Where is it? Is it underneath all that leg of yours?

00:35:29 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 3:

You know it, where it stays warm all the time. WKQI Detroit.

00:35:35 - 00:35:46 | Speaker 4:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

00:35:51 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I've got teenage boys, and one of them's been added to the list, and it's Kevin from our show. Kevin reminds me of, like, my sons. He reminds me of Luke particularly because. Shout out, Lukey, baby. Luke is, Luke's a 19-year-old guy, and it's always like, you know, why can't we do, and that's not fair, like stuff like this. Kevin just pulled a that's not fair moment with me where he was, like, not understanding that in radio.

00:36:23 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 6:

Set it up, Mojo.

00:36:24 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 5:

In radio, you buy your own headphones or you bring your own headphones to work. That's part of your tools of the trade. Why is that? Because that's just how it is. That's your answer? That's how it is? The radio, Kevin thinks that, hold on, let me dip the music here for a second. Cut that stuff off. Kevin thinks that the radio station, now mind you, Kevin's been in radio now for a year and a half, but you also interned back in the day at JLB, so you saw what it was like. you worked with professionals like uh mr chase coco and foolish who are legends did they not tell you that in radio you carry your headphones to work like you carry your lunch you know what i

00:37:02 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 6:

mean like go back to that's just the way it is or that's how it's always been why is that the

00:37:06 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 5:

philosophy because the the radio company does not buy you had kevin wants iheart to supply headphones here kevin and kp got in this discussion about how i don't understand why this radio company doesn't buy us headphones and i looked and shannon you you and i looked at megan actually well look at each other like okay i bought my these are i've paid for these i got a question

00:37:28 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 2:

don't let me in because that's not how i feel well i got a question for you did you also buy

00:37:32 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 5:

that microphone you're using no because the microphone stays here but the headphones go with me okay so it's portable that's why i have to buy it no because it's not portable i buy i I want the best product to be able to make this show better. Got you. So I pay for it myself. Okay. Do you think that a doctor who is a doctor goes and just uses somebody's stethoscope?

00:37:56 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 6:

Are these the best microphones in the industry?

00:37:59 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 5:

I think they're okay. I think we could have done better. Oh, so are you going to go buy a better version of a microphone?

00:38:03 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 6:

Maybe.

00:38:04 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 1:

No, you're not. I got you stuck. See, this is kind of how I thought about it. Because I've been thinking about this since I feel like this discussion started last week. And it carried into today. And I think about how, because those headphones that you have, Kev, are from here, right? Correct. We do have headphones that are just like laying around, but they're crap. No offense.

00:38:22 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 6:

No, KP said that she wasn't able to get any headphones from here.

00:38:25 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 1:

Because I think about this like doctors and nurses are supplied scrubs from the hospital, those blue scrubs that we see, whatever, green, whatever color you think they are. But a lot of them now want their, they want figs or whatever the new brand is. I don't know. It used to be figs. And so that's kind of how I think of it is, like, I didn't want those headphones, so I spent the money to buy these.

00:38:45 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't know anybody who supplied scrubs, though.

00:38:48 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? See, my parents, my entire family worked in the medical field, and they always just got scrubs from the hospital. This is my issue.

00:38:54 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 6:

It is totally fine if you are, if you want, quote, unquote, better headphones. That's perfectly fine. What I'm saying is, at a baseline, you should be provided headphones. If you don't like them, that's okay. But to show up to work at a radio station where the only two things I need are the ability to have my voice heard and to be able to hear your voice, I think those things should be provided.

00:39:16 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 2:

But then your barber and your hairstylist don't show up and expect them to have clippers and scissors. Like, you bring your own tools to the job.

00:39:24 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever gone to a job and you had to buy the uniform?

00:39:27 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:39:27 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 6:

Nah.

00:39:28 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 1:

See, I have. So have I. So that's right. Megan's wrong. I get your point.

00:39:32 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 5:

I totally get your point. Megan's analogy is true. Your barber brings his own scissors to the party. He doesn't have his scissors supplied for him.

00:39:40 - 00:39:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because it's his business. He's an entrepreneur. He started his own business. So because he started the business.

00:39:45 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 2:

No, but I don't know any hairstylist who doesn't own the salon who still doesn't own their tools. They have to buy their own tools.

00:39:51 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. George wants to side with Kevin on this one. What's up, George?

00:39:56 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I agree with Kevin. You know, you can't do your job without head.

00:40:00 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 5:

headphones they should be supplying at least you know the minimum for you george this is just how

00:40:06 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 6:

it is so if i want to bowl i gotta bring my own pins and go bowl if that's what i want to do that's that's what we said i agree they should be did you call it a bowl or ball what is it bring my own bowling ball and pins okay i gotta do that it is an interesting point and i've ever

00:40:21 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 4:

since i've been in radio i've just supplied my own head like i've never really thought about it Every single job I've ever had.

00:40:28 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 5:

I want to call Bob Pittman. I'm going to call him Bob right now. There is no way. Are you really?

00:40:32 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 4:

Do not.

00:40:32 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I swear. Pull him up. I'm calling Bob Pittman.

00:40:35 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 6:

There is no way that Bob Pittman shouldn't have Bowles or some other professional. Dre Beats, they should be sponsored by IRA. We should be sponsored by them.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 7:

I don't disagree with you, but why is it that some jobs you have to provide your own tools for and some you don't? I know.

00:40:51 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 6:

That's a more interesting conversation.

00:40:52 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 4:

I have been thinking about this since we started talking about it.

00:40:54 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 6:

There are no standards, and we just accept whatever has been because that's the way it has been.

00:40:58 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

That bring their own knives, like they bring a roll, right? Like a leather roll of their knives and their tools that they like to use to work with them. We got to demand better.

00:41:09 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 6:

We got to demand better. I'm going to- I'll be damned if I got to buy headphones to do this job. Are you kidding me? Are you- Like, that's what I have to do?

00:41:16 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 5:

Here's the deal, though. What you do is just negotiate a better deal and buy your own headphones. Do you want them to also buy you your mode of transportation to get her every single day?

00:41:27 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 6:

No, but if my job requires me to hear things and to say things, the same logic that I have that I didn't have to buy this microphone is the same exact logic why I shouldn't have to buy these headphones. This is an important functionality of my position.

00:41:40 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm calling Bob Pittman. Let's go. I'm calling Bob. He's our CEO of this company. He's a legend in broadcasting. I'm going to ask Bob Pittman. Hello? Hi, Bob Pittman. Good morning.

00:41:51 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:41:53 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I think I just had an aneurysm.

00:41:58 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Tony, are you listening to us right now? Are you listening to the station?

00:42:02 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was, but you're like background, so I wasn't listening to intense conversation.

00:42:08 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 5:

Kevin thinks that the radio company should pay for his headphones.

00:42:13 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 4:

For everybody's headphones.

00:42:14 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, for his headphones, everybody's headphones. He thinks that they should provide the tools for us.

00:42:19 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 3:

let me ask the rest of the crowd how many times the company has bought your headphones yeah

00:42:26 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 6:

yeah how many none why does that matter when that that doesn't change anything listen tony tony here's my point how many times have you purchased microphones for the rest of the crowd to do their functional jobs oh we got you see now you're making too much sense out of that's what i'm saying tony my whole thing is in order for me to perform at the highest levels i want to be successful in this role the organization wants me to be successful in this role if we don't have microphones there are no radio in order for me to hear my counterparts to hear the audio to hear whatever's being played i need to hear how can headphones be a part of that

00:43:03 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 5:

i can't hear you i'm sorry i took my headphones out there you go yes mojo you remember those

00:43:08 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 3:

headphones we got when we first got into radio like when the company would provide headphones They were horrible. Wait, what was this? Yeah, they were horrible. It was like tin cans.

00:43:16 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 5:

It was bad.

00:43:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 3:

It was like together and some string. I'll get you some of those.

00:43:19 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 6:

So the solution was just don't buy anything.

00:43:22 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. Real quick, Tony.

00:43:23 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 6:

That was our genius idea.

00:43:24 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 5:

John's on the phone. John, what do you do for a living, John?

00:43:28 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm a plumber.

00:43:29 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 5:

Do they provide your plumbing equipment, or what do they do?

00:43:33 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

No, there's a list when I first started of all my hand tools I had to buy myself to bring in, and then all my power tools, batteries. Now, if they go bad, they'll replace them, but I start to buy it all up front of myself.

00:43:43 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 6:

So if they go bad, they'll replace them. How are you going to get your toilet fixed by John if he doesn't go out and buy it? Just because that's the way it is does not make it right. That is not okay for me to get hired by a job, and then I got to go pay for everything?

00:43:56 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Cheyenne, what do you do for a living?

00:44:00 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 7:

I'm a dog groomer.

00:44:02 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 5:

And do you buy your own grooming stuff?

00:44:06 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. And, I mean, like, my company supplies, like, the basics, like, if some of our stuff were to fail. But I like to think of it like investing in your name and your brand, even though you may work for somebody else.

00:44:19 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 6:

I believe that, too. But she said invest in the basics. She also said the basics. I think having a microphone and headphones are the basics of radio.

00:44:26 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 5:

This isn't Blaine Fowler in the Blaine Fowler Morning Show. This is Mojo in the Morning. We get the best of the best. Carrie, are you there, Carrie?

00:44:35 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

yes hi carrie what's going on um i just wanted to say that we as nurses have to bring our own stethoscopes oh do you really touche yes i did not know that thank you so are you happy with that and buy your own shoes yeah we do our own shoes uh not scrubs but uniforms but if you're a special

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 6:

area you have to um not supply your own scrubs but you do have to still bring your own stethoscopes

00:45:05 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 7:

and you can't do your job without a stethoscope that's crazy bro uh hold on kristin save my life kristin provide is a teacher kristin what's up with teachers hi teachers have to buy everything

00:45:18 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 6:

oh yeah yeah we have to decorate our classrooms and get in trouble if it's not perfect i even buy my own paper disgusting you know what you know how the michigan lottery says look christy you

00:45:30 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 8:

know how the michigan lottery says a percentage of every lotto goes to the schools it should be a special fund a percentage of that where the lotto money should go to teachers so they don't have to buy their own stuff you should not have to buy things to do the function the basis of your

00:45:42 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 6:

job i agree i've never seen a dollar of that money hold on uh hind what do you do for a living hind

00:45:51 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 7:

Is it hind or hand?

00:45:52 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm a hand, yes, hand. I'm a nail tech, and we, like, bring our basic supplies to the salon.

00:45:59 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:45:59 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 4:

But the main thing, we use it in the salon itself, like their tools or stuff. But the basics, we bring our own.

00:46:07 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 7:

So, Kevin, when you get those big old freaking nails of yours clipped by hind.

00:46:13 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like the clippers, everything, yeah. The basics, we have to bring our own, and, like, we just buy it ourselves.

00:46:19 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 7:

Kevin's got it so bad.

00:46:20 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 8:

So when the Lions play, I guess they should bring their own football to the game, too. Right? That's what they need to do. When we go to the Pistons, if Cade doesn't bring the basketball, I guess we're going to play, right? He's got enough money to play.

00:46:34 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 7:

It is interesting. Let's think about it. Hold on. Ken, are you there?

00:46:39 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 5:

Yes, sir.

00:46:39 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 7:

Ken, are you siding with Kevin or not siding with Kevin?

00:46:44 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 5:

You know, I think I'm going to side with them. I was in the military and basic training.

00:46:49 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 8:

He got to bring his own gun to go to war? Come on now.

00:46:52 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 5:

They made us pay for our own uniforms. Yes, they did. Our first check, they made us, they took out the money.

00:47:00 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 2:

That is actually asinine to me. I did not know that.

00:47:05 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 7:

Look at how they treat you later in life, too. They treat you like crap with the VA and stuff. No way.

00:47:10 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 6:

I did not know that.

00:47:12 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 7:

Ken, do you know who the, we got Tony, say hi to Tony Travato, by the way. He's still on. He's on.

00:47:17 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Ken? Oh, my God.

00:47:19 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 7:

Thank you for your service, Ken. Yes. Hey, Ken, did you know that Tony Travato has a lot of ladies that think he looks good in a tux? He should wear it all the time. That's how good looking of a guy he is. He bought his own tux.

00:47:29 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 5:

That's a rumor. He got broad shoulders. Broad shoulders do well in suits.

00:47:33 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Not a rumor, by the way, Tony. That was part of my weekend.

00:47:35 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 7:

His tux, though, by the way, was a Carhartt tux. I've never seen anybody with a Carhartt tux.

00:47:39 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Yep. And Carhartt.

00:47:42 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 7:

Tony, I did have Lydia put a call into Bob Pittman, who right now is working hard. He's about ready to walk into a big meeting for iHeartRadio to keep this radio station alive and breathing, the number one broadcasting company in the world. Mr. Pittman, how are you? Welcome to the show, Bob.

00:48:02 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. How are you guys?

00:48:04 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. My heart just dropped again. Victor, damn it.

00:48:07 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 1:

I just want to say, Kevin, Tom, if you could go out to Five Below and get him a pair of Spider-Man headphones. Let's do it. If you don't like that, Kevin, you could just quit, okay?

00:48:18 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 8:

It's better than not having anything.

00:48:21 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 1:

Coming from a guy who won't pay $5 to go to Belle Isle to take his son to Belle Isle. Not doing that either.

00:48:27 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 8:

Not doing that either.

00:48:28 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 7:

He didn't even part of my taxes. By the way, what do you pay for? If you won't pay for headphones, won't pay to go to Belle Isle, what do you do pay for? Gas. And I'm about to go electric. You pay for Hennessy. I know he pays for Hennessy. I've seen him pay for a lot of Hennessy over time.

00:48:44 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm getting rid of the toilet paper, too. Yeah.

00:48:47 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 7:

All right. We'll talk to you later. By the way, you know, one day the real Bob Pittman is going to call up this radio show. Come on. Shannon. I'm leaving the room. Shannon's never going to believe it. No. She's going to be like, yeah, F you, Bob. No. I agree. You know Kev.

00:49:02 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Kev knows. He always dresses classy. He's sometimes sassy. and secretly smart-ass-y. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:49:11 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 7:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. So Chelsea and I went out to dinner. This story is funny. We go out to dinner, and it's just the two of us, and we're sitting down at this restaurant. I won't name the restaurant because I feel bad for these guys. So we're sitting down. Chelsea and I, you know, the waitress comes over. It's really sweet. She's like, hey, can I get you guys drinks? We get our drinks, order our drinks. She comes, brings our drinks to us, has water and all the rest of the stuff, and we're just sitting there talking and then we're getting ready to order and I said to her I go I go hey you know what is your favorite thing on the menu I always ask that question and I always follow that up with what's your least favorite thing on the menu because if they won't if they'll give me their favorite thing on the menu and they won't give me their least favorite thing if they say everything's good they're full of crap I know that they're she told me like five things that were her least favorites which was awesome I respected it so we order.

00:50:00 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

food's in I'm trying to be really really focused and I'm bad at it and Chelsea I'm sorry about this I'm always on my phone I kept my phone in my pocket didn't even have it on the table turned over and we're just talking and talking in times going by and the guy comes over a few times and starts filling up our waters the water kid you know water guy water boy and um we're just sitting there having this conversation going on and on and on and finally I just said to her I go have you seen our waitress in a while and she says no and i go how long has it been and chelsea's like i think it's been a while but you know i don't know time because i don't have my phone and stuff there so we just sit more and we'd sort of know you know when you're in a restaurant you start seeing people that are sitting around you that ordered after you getting their food you're like what the f so finally we called over a uh server from uh another table and said hey could you check on our our order and they said oh did you order from katie or whatever her name was katherine or whatever and i said i don't know what her name is but yeah the blonde girl she goes oh my god i'm so sorry she quit oh she quit in the middle of our freaking meal so in the middle in the or in middle not in our meal we didn't even get the meal she quit in the middle of our thing and nobody came over to us none another server not even the water boy not a manager and said that our waitress left in the middle of the thing and i started cracking up laughing and i said i said to chelsea i go i go this is craziness i said i i've you know known that this has happened before matter of fact i think that uh um i've seen nate bergetsky talking about that before yeah it's happening to us right now so they came over they were really nice they brought our food to us and they they didn't you know charge us for anything like they were really cool we left a tip and stuff but she quit right in the middle of the thing and i'm thinking god if i was gonna quit and do it and i quit this bitch thing i would still feel bad about the people that i'm leaving behind and say hey guys i'm leaving right now okay or say something has anybody had a great quitting story like I would love to hear a great quitting story like how did you quit a job that you just hated and will you call us up and tell us and Katie or Kay Kay whatever your name where the hell did you go if I ever go to a restaurant because you know these guys all go from restaurant to restaurant yeah I go to sometimes you go to Plymouth or you go to Royal Oak or Birmingham or any of these areas that are in my area west bloomfield you'll see and go hey you can't work here you worked at

00:52:40 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 5:

red coat you know what i mean well or there's some like wes and i used to go to this one particular restaurant all the time and sit at the bar because the bartender andrew the one that he uh invited to our wedding yeah was like our favorite and they fired him and i will not go back to that restaurant whatsoever they fired the guy they they parted ways yes you are so fired wow that's when they

00:53:02 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 3:

When you fire somebody that you love, you think it's not their fault because you've seen the best of them, right? Yeah. And I don't care what it is. It's like, yeah, I get it. I'll protest that. But 844 Mojo Live.

00:53:14 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 1:

I quit this bitch.

00:53:16 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 3:

What's your I quit moment that you can tell us about? Jenna, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:53:21 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I worked at a restaurant. I worked midnights, and I was absolutely miserable there. They just treated everyone bad. So when I quit, I got a get well soon card that said get well soon, and I just wrote I quit. And signed my name and gave that to them.

00:53:34 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gee.

00:53:35 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:53:37 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 3:

You don't use them as a reference, do you?

00:53:40 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 1:

I do not, no.

00:53:41 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I wonder how, can you tell me this? You guys work service industry. I was a busboy once. I was never, like, a waiter. Do they ask for, or, like, do the restaurants talk to each other?

00:53:54 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:53:55 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 3:

They don't know?

00:53:56 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 4:

Like, references-wise, you mean? Yeah. I've never even understood references, because most of the time, don't you leave your job because of your boss? Why would they say something good? They're only going to say something bad about you.

00:54:04 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 3:

Is that why you leave a job? I think you leave it just because you want something else.

00:54:08 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 4:

I think a lot of people leave because of their boss.

00:54:10 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 3:

They don't like their bosses? They want some more money or something. What's up, Jonathan? Hi.

00:54:14 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Hello. So I used to manage a McDonald's overnight, the night shift. And I take a vacation for my birthday every year and whatnot. So over my vacation, the night manager that was covering my shift had a gun pulled on him. And when I got back from my vacation, they informed me that that happened. And I literally turned around, wrote my notice, and then walked out. Never returned. Scared as hell.

00:54:42 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. I'd be a little bit freaked out about that. Caroline, what's up? Hi. What's your crazy quitting story?

00:54:49 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I freaking love you guys. Aw.

00:54:53 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too. We love you, too.

00:54:57 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 1:

So I'm calling from Canada. And not my first time, not the long time either.

00:55:03 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 6:

Hello, Canada, friends.

00:55:05 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 1:

Hello. So I was preparing to quit a job, and I could not stand my one co-worker at all, and she would never lock her locker. So I took her name tag, wore it for the day, and I was just the worst worker ever. And people were complaining, so I said, well, if you have a problem, here's my name tag.

00:55:28 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 3:

Savage.

00:55:30 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 1:

So I don't know what happened to her afterwards. I don't care, but that was my story, and I have to call and tell you guys.

00:55:35 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 6:

That is actually pretty funny. Shy, what's up?

00:55:41 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:55:42 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 6:

Hi. How'd you quit a job?

00:55:45 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, they told me I couldn't wear my natural hair because it wasn't professional. So, yeah, I left the day of, and then when I came back, I brushed my hair all the way out, grabbed my stuff, and gave her the middle finger. Were they going to give you a raise to get your hair done all the time? Right. That's what I was trying to figure out. But I have natural kinky curls. Like, my hair is, like, really deep. Which, by the way. And she said it was unprofessional.

00:56:14 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 3:

Which, by the way, is professional. Just to make that very clear, your natural hair is professional. You are professional. What was the job? Yeah, I don't know that too.

00:56:24 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 6:

Did you have to, like.

00:56:25 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 2:

I was a sales consultant at Gardner White.

00:56:28 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. Oh, boy. You can't really do anything about people's microaggressions. That's interesting. Wow. All right. Hold on a second. Somebody wants to voice disguised. I'm going to fire that sucker up right now. Let me get it going here. Which line is that? Is that line number one there, Lydia, or no? Which is the voice disguiser's one?

00:56:51 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 1:

No, I think she hung up.

00:56:53 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she hung up the phone. Okay. Then which line am I picking up here next? Let's pick up this line. Misfit Victor. Hi, Victor. What's up, Victor?

00:57:03 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, guys. Morning. What's going on? I used to work at this restaurant in commerce. I won't say the name of it. We had this one waitress for her first day. Her first day was a Friday, and it was kind of chaotic in there. And then she just says, I have to go. I got to go. And just walked out the door. And we're like, oh, thank God she let us know. And then, like, two hours later, the other waitresses are getting ready to go home, and they're like, hey, my wallet's gone. So we remind the camera, and we see her go in the back, grab waitress's wallet, and just run out with it. Oh, my gosh. But I call her up, and I'm like, hey, we have you on camera. You stole $400, wallet, everything. We need it back, ASAP. And it was like she would start crying, then she'd hang up, and I'd call her back, and she'd start cussing me out. She was just having all kinds of issues. A lot of issues. Yeah, her cousin calls me back and goes, I'm going to bring up the wallet, I'll bring up the money, everything I just got to go pawn, this PS5. Oh, no.

00:58:11 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Hey, Victor, quick question for you.

00:58:13 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 5:

I got to do better background shape.

00:58:15 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 6:

Quick question for you. Who is the hottest guy that you know?

00:58:19 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, right now? I mean, besides Kevin on the show, I mean, the way he hugs me is just unbelievable.

00:58:30 - 00:58:30 | Unknown:

That's what I mean.

00:58:33 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 6:

He nestles you, doesn't he? Doesn't he kind of nestle you? I love when he nestles me.

00:58:37 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 5:

The funny thing is, he never hugs me, like, face to face. It's always from behind.

00:58:42 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 6:

I see why y'all are best friends.

00:58:44 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah.

00:58:46 - 00:58:46 | Unknown:

All right.

00:58:46 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 6:

I'll talk to you. So this is what y'all be doing when y'all go to Costco.

00:58:50 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 5:

00:59:29 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

01:00:16 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 2:

just left you left you walked away from your tow truck on the side of the road i yeah dang how did you like that's kind of a dangerous thing how did you get a ride or how did you get home

01:00:27 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 1:

well i just called one of my friends that's great talk about quitting i was nice enough to call the officer i told the officer hey you know what like somebody else is gonna come and pick up

01:00:39 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 2:

the tow truck oh my god oh my god that's like a boss move um by the way one of the things you learn is the people that know all the computer passwords or know the computer tech stuff are the people you don't f with initial c is voice disguise you there i'm here can you hear me yeah I got you. You quit a job by doing what?

01:01:01 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 5:

I locked them out of their computer system. Ooh. Good for you. Savage.

01:01:08 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 2:

Megan, by the way, makes it so that our human resources department is wondering if they should, like, worry if Megan ever leaves her, she's going to do something destructive. You're like, good for you. Great.

01:01:19 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 3:

This is awesome. I'm guessing if you have to shut down a computer system, and that's how you're choosing to leave, knowing that they could follow you. There was probably a lot that led up to that point.

01:01:29 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 2:

I know, but isn't it nice just to say, I'll be the better person?

01:01:33 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 3:

When has your job ever said they're the better person for you?

01:01:36 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, initial C, what did they do to you that caused you to lock them out of their computer system?

01:01:42 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 5:

Well, they accused me of violating security protocol.

01:01:48 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 2:

And they accused you once or many times?

01:01:52 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, they accused me one time and sent an email to my supervisor. But the reason this came about was because everyone was in person doing training, and I was the only person who was teleworking, and they couldn't necessarily monitor what I was doing from home. So in order to get rid of me, that's what they did.

01:02:14 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

What kind of company was this?

01:02:18 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 5:

It was the government.

01:02:19 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you locked the government out. Now I don't feel so bad.

01:02:23 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you, I have a friend who used to work in social media, and the person they were doing social media for was a massive influence with, like, millions of followers. They didn't pay her for months, for six months. So she changed all of their passwords and said, you cannot have access to your multi-million follower account until you give me my money back, and they gave her the money the next day.

01:02:44 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 1:

Whoa.

01:02:45 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:02:46 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. By the way, hold on a second. Do I have all the passwords?

01:02:49 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 1:

Do I have all the pads with me?

01:02:52 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to make sure. Win tickets to see Kendrick and SZA. I want you to text squabble right now to 95500. That's squabble, S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E, to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply, and you could be going to the show at Ford Field. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. If you do text us, we would love for you to look for a phone call from us because we might want to call you and put you on the radio, and that would be our producer that's calling you to say, hey, come on, talk to us and say your comment on the air to us, and then tell us if you're a first-time long-time. We would love to acknowledge that. KP has been dating, which is always good whenever the single people on the show are dating because it brings us good conversation. She, though, out of all the single people, never tells us, though, that she's dating. She tries to hide it from us, so we have to hire a private investigator to figure this out. But there has been, this is interesting, we're now going to learn the guy's name that she's dating, because I didn't even know who the guy's name was, because she's just referred to him on the air. But it's because he shares a name of somebody else on this show. Zach. Zach. It's the worst. His name is Zach. As you say that, he's walking over here. Got a little pepity step, too.

01:04:17 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 4:

This is a massive issue, actually, that his name is Zach.

01:04:20 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

And it's not this Zach.

01:04:21 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 4:

No. I'm not dating Zach on the show.

01:04:24 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine Zach, you and KP together?

01:04:27 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Woo! Woo! Zach, I love you. I love you.

01:04:33 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 2:

So, KP, so you're dating a guy named Zach. And how has it become an issue that he shares the same name as this Zach?

01:04:43 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 4:

Because I accidentally texted the wrong Zach. And I didn't realize until Zach was like, KB, what the hell are you talking about? In all caps. Was it a sext? No. I wish. That would have been so much better.

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine or a photo?

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:05:01 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 5:

That's why I didn't bring it up. Yeah, no, I was texting my Zach about something else. Are we calling my Zach? I am your Zach. What the hell? I'm calling my Zach, yes. But like my other Zach. And like an inside joke. And I was trying to figure something out. And Zach was just like, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. And Zach being Zach was trying so hard to understand until he just got completely fed up.

01:05:27 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 2:

I think you're missing the big thing.

01:05:30 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what was the big thing?

01:05:31 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 2:

She was like, you remember? You remember what we were doing? Don't you remember? So she was texting. She was like, hey, didn't we figure this out last night? Remember our messages that we were sending? Our secret messages? And I'm like, KP, what the hell are you talking about?

01:05:49 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 1:

I think you got the wrong answer. Wait, what are secret messages?

01:05:53 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even, I don't know. She didn't specify. Wow, you should have kept it.

01:05:57 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 5:

We were testing some audio equipment and we were sending each other messages to test it. Secret messages? She's watching. I was like, why is this not working? So I decided to text her and be like, hey, do you know how this works?

01:06:14 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 2:

That's when I started getting frustrated. I was like, what are you talking about? Like, I have done all of my work. What are you talking about? I didn't do anything wrong. She's like, no, we literally did this yesterday. And I'm like, no, no, we literally didn't.

01:06:27 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 5:

I was like, we just talked about this, Zach. That's like Gatekeep.

01:06:31 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 3:

So the Zach that you are dating, you were trying to talk to him. Instead, you got this Zach. And Zach, you would actually want her to be sending you like a romantic text? I don't know if I'd want a coworker to be sending it and know what they're doing behind the scenes. Mojo, I just want to be loved.

01:06:55 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 2:

So even if it's the wrong text, that'd be cool.

01:06:58 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 1:

But then now I'm like, and I'm sure you were too. I'm so intrigued at like secret messages. That's all I've been thinking about.

01:07:06 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 3:

Has this ever happened to any listener or anybody listening to the show? 844 Mojo Live where you were sending in the text to the wrong person. And did it ever become that? Because I know we've done it before where people have said that they've sent a new to like a family member or whatever and that can get kind of interesting but what if they share the same name yeah i always get the like i always hear the mom is the interesting one where it's like you're dating a person named i don't know something mo and it turns out that you type in the first couple of letters and it does that from time to time i always get group texts wrong like i try to i try to send people text messages and next thing i know i'm sending them to like the three person group text that was the last but you just needed or you just needed the one person

01:07:55 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 1:

group text and it sends it to the whole group exactly you know what just happened to my friend

01:07:59 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 5:

she had a guy that she used to hook up with texture and she didn't reply so he replied back sorry that was for my sister oh he was he was trying because apparently his sister has the same name as her he was trying to like play it off because he was embarrassed he didn't mean to text her he meant to send it to his sister because she didn't reply and you think he was telling the truth

01:08:19 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 3:

No. Really?

01:08:20 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 5:

No. He would have sent it right away. Or if you did it, you would be like, oh, my bad, wrong person.

01:08:25 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Exactly.

01:08:26 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 3:

You would know. Hey, Z, what's up?

01:08:29 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I was just going to say that Zach can always send me secret messages. I would love to know what he would have to say. Ew.

01:08:35 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

He could always send her secret messages. Oh, hello, Zach. All right. Have you met Zach?

01:08:40 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Once. Only when you guys were doing the chicken poop thing.

01:08:44 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Great. Wow. That was the time. It wasn't at the hotel hookup party in one of his rooms at the Cambria Hotel?

01:08:51 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 4:

No, but it seems like this show is all about poop today, you guys. Every day, baby. Every day.

01:08:57 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is no different. Poop and sexting. What's going on, Mo?

01:09:03 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how y'all doing?

01:09:05 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 3:

What's up?

01:09:05 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 7:

So I started working at a sushi restaurant. I was working there for maybe a week, and I was in a group chat with, like, the lime leaves and the managerial stuff like that. I forgot what I sent a couple of years ago, but I know it was a sexual text to the point where, like, I'm freaking out. I'm like, oh, okay, I didn't mean to send it, but I didn't go in that day. Like, I just ended up doing a final show.

01:09:29 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I love, though, it's my new job. This is my new job, and I just sent something sexual to you. What's up, Jen? Hi.

01:09:39 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 6:

Yes. I thought I was texting my girlfriend. this was like years before I'd been married and I text what I thought was her and said thanks for the amazing shower this morning and my dad texts me back and I didn't realize it was him and he says you're welcome and then I I said, yeah, me plus dirty thoughts of you plus the shower head equals. Plus the shower head. And my dad had to call me. Yeah. And my dad had to call me and say, stop sending me your dirty best decision. Oh, my God.

01:10:20 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Wait, why would your dad say thank you? Did you live at home with your dad and you were using his shower?

01:10:25 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 6:

This was, like, when we were up north at my grandma's. Oh, so you were at family's house. I was out and about. Yeah. That was awkward. Awkward.

01:10:36 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 4:

That is so funny. So, wait a second. Hold on. I'm trying to do the math equation. Me plus dirty thoughts of you. What did it equal again?

01:10:45 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Plus the shower head. Don't forget. Plus the shower head. That's what she said.

01:10:51 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:10:51 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 6:

He might have to say the shower head, for some reason, was removed not too long after that. He couldn't ever figure out why.

01:11:01 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 4:

He was trying to make sure that you weren't spending extra long showers there using all the hot water. What's up, Zach? Hi, Zach. Hi, Zach.

01:11:09 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 2:

How's it going?

01:11:09 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? Another Zach. We got a lot of Zacks here.

01:11:12 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 2:

Another Zach.

01:11:13 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 4:

KP's got a Zach. We got a Zach. You got a Zach. What's up?

01:11:17 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

I am a Zach, and I actually went to school with a bunch of Zacks, too. So I had to change the way I spelt my name because there were so many Zags.

01:11:26 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Really? Okay. And so it becomes an issue there.

01:11:33 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 2:

It's like Highlander.

01:11:36 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 4:

Were you hoping that it was you also getting the wrong sex stuff from KP? What's going on, Rachel? Hi.

01:11:45 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you?

01:11:47 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

01:11:49 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 5:

Nothing. So when I was in college, mind you, this is like 2008 or so, I had a roommate, and she would get a boyfriend, and she would steal my clothes and then try to politely put them back, and I was texting my one friend, just complaining about her, like, she's such a bad friend, and, you know, she steals my stuff and puts it back and uses all my hair tools, and then she texted me, the friend I was texting texted me back, and she was like, oh my god i'm so sorry but she's like are you serious i felt so terrible that i was texting her and then my phone died while i was in class oh no i couldn't text back and like attempt to explain like what happened and she was like mad at me and never came home for like so so you were

01:12:35 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

texting talking about her but you actually sent the text to her how did that mistake yeah sorry

01:12:40 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 5:

i explained because they had the same first letter okay they were both they were both at the top of my list of like who i'd been texting yeah and i clicked the wrong one and was like oh crap and

01:12:53 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 4:

my phone died after i sent the text somebody told me that i need to stop saving all my texts i save all my texts i do because i don't want i want to have receipts you know what i mean so if it ever comes back i want to make sure that i you know have the the proof and a lot of people say that the problem is that anytime you keyword anything it will always come up somehow yeah and like the most random stuff comes up so so tell us about the zach guy yeah who's uh who's better looking him or our zach because i think our zach's pretty sexy only one yeah he's the most attractive man i've ever seen and i just said he gets audio to me sooner quick question though honestly kp is not your first love on the show out of all the girls who would be your first love on the show Oh, Shannon, 100%. Oh, you best at all. I know that.

01:13:44 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 3:

I saw that wink, too.

01:13:46 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 4:

He's got a secret little crush there on one Megan. I love Megan. I love you. I'm a big fan of Megan.

01:13:51 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 1:

People don't know. You and I talk literally all day, every day.

01:13:54 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I didn't receive any Happy New Year or Merry Christmas. She didn't respond to any text messages at all, by the way.

01:14:01 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 3:

This is true.

01:14:03 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

Not one.

01:14:04 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 3:

You were MIA. It was great. I loved it. She was living her best life.

01:14:08 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 4:

She was off the grid. Loved it.

01:14:13 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Text the show anytime and tell us what we can do better or we'll be screwed up or what damn idiots we are. Send to 95500. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:23 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. Shannon is scared that it's coming back. What's going on, Shannon?

01:14:39 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

So I don't know if you guys have ever, if I've ever told you this story, but when I was a little girl, I had all sorts of health things going on. I was born an asthmatic and was all the way, I was in the hospital more than I was out of the hospital with asthma attacks and those sorts of things. But I also have really severe allergies. and really severe eczema when I was little especially to the point where I was being treated at various hospitals for it I had no eyebrows or hair on my arms because I would I would scratch so hard that areas of my body were raw and bloody and every single night I had to be wrapped in this black tar like substance and my dad would cover would wrap my arms and my legs in gauze so I I would lay in my bed like a mummy to try to like help it get better. And I was such a scary sight in public. My dad always tells me this story about how parents would gasp and pull their children in closer when they saw me because I was terrifying looking. I finally started to get better maybe when I was in second or third grade and I looked quote unquote normal aside from my horrible bull haircut, which I still blame my mom for. But I don't know what's going on lately. I don't know if it's, like, my body changing, perimenopause, the real bitch, or what's going on. But it is coming back with a vengeance. And Megan knows this because every day I complain, like, I want to rip my eyelids off of my face. My arms and my legs are covered in it again. I just started steroid cream and steroids again for it. But I'm so scared that, and it is such a vain thing to say, but that it's going to happen again. And then my face is going to look the way that it looked when I was in preschool, kindergarten, first grade. And I won't be able to do anything about it because it just, it like attacks your body. It's so weird. It's crazy.

01:16:32 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't have it nearly as bad as you do, but I do think it's funny. We almost have like a medical grade equipment. I have eczema really bad on my hands, really bad on my hands. And you'll walk in and it's, throughout the year we have like really cute, like scent, nice smelling lotions or whatever. This time of year it's like, here's the medical grade. It smells like crap, but it's thick and my hands aren't going to physically crack and bleed.

01:16:55 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 3:

You're welcome. But it's my eyelids lately that like my face is, I try so hard to not touch my face, but I want to rip my eyelids out of, off of my face. That's how bad it feels like it's burning.

01:17:06 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 1:

The reasoning is, is it the weather? Cause you say at this time of the year?

01:17:09 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 3:

No, I honestly think it's hormone changes in my body. I have an appointment to go see a doctor about this, but it's just like one of those things where i it affected my childhood so much and i i always think how grateful i am to not have that issue and again it's a total vanity thing but it was really bad i'll have to show you guys some pictures um and i just don't want it to come back look at you and not want to i looked like i really i looked like a burn victim yeah i'll have to have my dad send me some photos because i know

01:17:39 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 1:

he has a bunch of them my mom too but it's amazing when when you you know you'll see people that will have um some kind of a you know a skin irritation or i don't even know what it is and for people to sit there and stare is to me like the worst yeah they know they have it and for people that to act that way is is crazy uh taylor what's up it's mojo in the morning shannon you should totally

01:18:02 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 4:

use coconut oil i've had actual issues my entire life have you yeah i i've tried i wish that worked

01:18:10 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean, even the steroid cream that I'm using right now is not doing a darn thing.

01:18:15 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 4:

I've had the same issues my whole life, and the steroids have never helped even a little bit. But, yeah, the coconut oil definitely did the trick for me. Something else I have heard works is sea salt baths.

01:18:29 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. I've been told bleach baths, too. Bleach baths? Yeah, put some bleach in a bathtub and sit in it. It's actually safe for you, but it terrifies me. I can't do it. What about oatmeal? I remember doing that when I had the chicken pox.

01:18:44 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. That's why I brought it up. I didn't know if it could transfer. A lot of people say red light therapy is a big deal, too. A lot of people are doing red light therapy on text message here.

01:18:52 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Which is interesting because I use that mask, but it has my eyes cut. Like, the eyes part is cut out.

01:18:58 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 1:

Have you took a bath in Sauvignon Blanc?

01:19:01 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 3:

That helps everything. Worth a try.

01:19:04 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

Marisa, what's up?

01:19:06 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 5:

Hi. First time in a long time. Love you guys.

01:19:10 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mary Marisa.

01:19:13 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 5:

Mary Marisa. Mary clean meat, everybody. Shannon, I went through something similar. And Frick held to menopause, perimenopause, okay, number one. It started and I was scratching all over, waking up at night, scratching, scratching, scratching. It's insane. It's insane and it's everywhere. And then when you get one scratch, it starts somewhere else. Zyrtec. Start taking Zyrtec at night.

01:19:38 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you know I take it every single day?

01:19:39 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

every day i take it but i take it in the morning oh you take it in the morning okay sometimes if it's bad enough i mean they say to take it once a day but maybe maybe when you see your doctor they'll tell you to take it twice a day but um um yeah that they might take tell you to take it twice a day but uh then then i'm not is this part of menopause

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 4:

Because I know you had talked about that before, about perimenopause.

01:20:02 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 6:

Perimenopause. Oh, yeah.

01:20:04 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 4:

Really? So it comes back. It starts early, and it comes back later. Man. Who the hell is peri?

01:20:10 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 6:

It's like the really fun 10 years leading up to actual. We got to find her. I thought it was a Commodore. It's like, we're going to give you a little teaser of what's about to happen.

01:20:20 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Nick?

01:20:22 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm 21 years old. I was 14 is when I first got my eczema. And that was real bad. after a couple years it went away but the last five months it's been the worst it's ever been especially on my eyelids isn't that so weird it's it's it's i've never understood why it came out but this last five months it's been hell but well i'm with you i my dermatologist told me to switch i usually do zyrtec i've been doing zyrtec my whole life she told me to switch to claritin because it helps better for the inside of your body i i don't know nick is i am doing it is the

01:20:58 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 4:

pain worse or is it that you feel like people are looking at you because you got the looks

01:21:02 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 1:

worse no i mean it's not terrible like i i did the steroid cream now and honestly once you're out of the steroid cream it comes right back it does man yeah uh man a lot of people uh dealing

01:21:14 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 2:

with this samantha what's up hi there how are you guys this morning good morning what's going on so i have the same thing and so does my son standing and i went to the dermatologist and he told me to put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in your water bottle, like, you know, a normal 16-ounce water bottle. Yeah. And drink that. It has been the only thing that works.

01:21:40 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:21:41 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 6:

I am going to do that literally as soon as I get home.

01:21:43 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 4:

They say apple cider vinegar is like the cure for everything.

01:21:46 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I will do it.

01:21:47 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 2:

You guys, it is the only thing that has worked for me. And drink it with a straw because you don't want the, And it'll mess up your enamel on your teeth if you drink it, like, straight to your teeth. You know what I'm saying? If you do it every day. But I do it once a day. It has made my skin clear. It has cleaned up everything. I've used steroid creams. I've done everything everybody has suggested. Apple cider vinegar is the only thing that has worked for me.

01:22:11 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Why is it this topic is making my skin itch? Like, why is that?

01:22:16 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 6:

I want to claw mine off. Really? That's what it feels like. Yeah.

01:22:19 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 4:

I've noticed lately that you've seemed like you're more either congested or coughing or something like that. Has it anything to do with that or no?

01:22:27 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 6:

No, it's not that. We can't reach our cough buttons anymore.

01:22:30 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is that what it is?

01:22:31 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you just hear my...

01:22:34 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Maybe he didn't call his wife to check in while on your date, but something isn't right. Second date update is after 8 this morning on Mojo in the Morning.

01:22:44 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, this is one where I think some people are going to have an opinion on this.

01:22:49 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 5:

the wife doesn't know about the viagra well she just found out about it but i'm wondering if you are taking any sort of medication let's say to help you out in the bedroom do you have to tell your significant other are you required like morally ethically to let them know um a friend of mine just found viagra on her husband's nightstand um i want to make it really clear we don't believe any cheating is involved in this like I don't want it to turn into that I don't think that's the case because he admitted he was just embarrassed to tell her that he's been having issues and he went to the doctor and doctor suggested this they've been having a normal like nothing has changed in their baking cookie lives I forgot what time it was um and everything's just as regular as it's always been and he says it's because he went to the doctor to do this but

01:23:43 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 3:

was too embarrassed to tell her so is he doing it because he's he can't do it or doing it because

01:23:48 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 5:

he wants to do it longer no he was having um problems okay yeah so it i felt i feel bad for him hipaa violations you cannot tell i asked permission no no i'm not saying you you can't tell your wife i was like i would not tell somebody's business like this unless i was talking about i don't know i think a lot of people go through this he's in his late 40s. His wife is a little bit younger than him. She's closer in age to me.

01:24:18 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Why do you need Viagra then?

01:24:20 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 4:

You don't got to tell her.

01:24:21 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 6:

I think you do. Why? I think you should. For three reasons. One, I just think when it comes to intimacy, everything should be on the table. Two, if I found it, if Wes was using Viagra and I didn't know and then found it, I would go, oh my god, he's cheating on me. Why else would he be using this and three i want to i want to prepare myself for you know two hours versus 30

01:24:46 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 5:

minutes they have an active life so she was like there's no way he's doing it with somebody else

01:24:51 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 4:

yeah so that's my thing like even if like your second option was the one that screamed out to me more than the first and the third that you finding it and then having questions about is this something that he's using outside of our relationship and I think if you know at that point you know your relationship maybe that is a question he can simply just answer it right

01:25:10 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 6:

and say like hey but in that same vein no shame yeah right tell me are you I don't care okay so I don't think it's cool but it is but no I'm saying no shame in that you have to use Viagra like okay but it like I just feel like that that when it comes to intimacy I feel like you gotta everything to be shared.

01:25:29 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 4:

I will full disclosure tell you that I have taken Viagra and I told Chelsea. Really? And she loved it probably. I'll be honest with you. I don't think she noticed a difference. But it didn't. It doesn't necessarily, Shannon, make you go. It makes you go, you just stay more active. Like you can stay more active and you can get more active faster. But I will say this, full disclosure, I did not say anything to to her because honestly it's an embarrassing thing for a guy to take it especially you know my name is tom two second tom some you know happens and i and i will say that there are things that women do with their health that they don't always share with their spouse i'm sure you guys take things or do things that not necessarily do you tell your spouse about at a certain point I think the only thing that you said that was valid in that one was you don't want them thinking that you're out there cheating. But the reality is if you're using it and you're using it with your spouse, I think that your goal is that you want it to be better for them. Because realistically, as a guy, if you just have sex and get it done with, you're caring about yourself. If you're trying to take care of your spouse, you're trying to take care of them.

01:26:47 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 5:

So here's how I came in. I didn't mean to make it a little serious. I was going to leave this out, but I think you brought something up that sparked an important part of this conversation for me. I don't care that you're taking it for the bedroom. You're taking it so we can have a better time. That benefits me. Like, I don't care. I would feel bad if I was your wife, and God forbid an emergency happened, and I took you to the hospital, and I didn't know. Maybe it, doesn't it affect your heart and stuff like that? Like, I need to know what medications you're taking. I didn't even think about that. That's interesting.

01:27:18 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, that is an interesting point that also you always hear the story, if it goes past a certain time, tell your doctor. But what's going on? Initial B, what are your thoughts on this?

01:27:32 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. So I hated it for my wife for probably over a year, honestly. I started having issues, and I didn't know what to do. So, you know, I went to the doctor. the doctor was like well you can get a prescription for it if you want and try it out and see how it goes for you but you know at the end of the day he's like well you should probably work out change your diet blah blah blah and i was like well yeah i'd love to do that too but you know having a life and kids you get overwhelmed at home so uh but i finally had the conversation with her a year later and basically most nervous conversation i ever had in my life did it go over okay well she basically told me well it's a prescription that you got from your doctor uh and it's prescribed and that's all i need to know yeah it's one thing if you got it from

01:28:23 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 4:

you you got like the wiener pills at the gas station you know what i mean and it's another thing also if maybe a buddy gave you one you know what i mean uh but if your doctor's full-on getting you know giving you it then yeah it's i mean it's all legit but i will say this to you i sometimes and i don't think that necessarily do they notice as much as you notice right and you feel more of a man when you're doing it oh yeah it's great i mean i just i'd rock out you know dump wait hold on did he did he just really say that i thought he said talking i thought you just said effing a little bit oh my you got excited there didn't you

01:29:06 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 2:

I did. I mean, they get the job done. Simple as that.

01:29:10 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 4:

Yes. The wiener pill went to his head, and he just said effing on the radio. Mojo in the morning, what's going on? Mark, how are you doing?

01:29:21 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing well. So my comment is that, I mean, I'm in a different case because my wife's an RN, so maybe that's what's different about it. But I would even call my wife and talk to her prior to going to the doctor. and say you're dealing with a struggle that summer well not currently but last summer we had a house fire and there was like a good month where i couldn't perform and i talked to her about she's like no you're fine we're just going through a lot right now you know you're you're living out of a camper and so i'm like okay um she goes if it keeps up we'll talk about it again and then maybe mention to the doctor that sort of thing but i'm in my late 40s now and if i needed something like that.

01:30:00 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 6:

she would have no problem with it she would you know we'd talk about it prior because the whole thing about intimacy is communication with each other yeah i like by the way that you bring this

01:30:09 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

up because it's not always that you want it for better sex yeah a lot of times you want it because you are dealing with a lot of stress and stress does bring that to you so why are guys absolutely guys what's it so embarrassed by it i i can't speak i think they're embarrassed because of they feel like they should be able to do this themselves like like it's it's like penis size like guys get embarrassed like you don't ever want to go into the locker room when you're in high school and have to take your clothes off in front of other kids you know what i mean

01:30:38 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 3:

that breaks my heart because like there's so many tools just used in the bedroom for the benefit of women's bodies maybe not working to an extent and i think we all think of the one thing on the nightstand that is made for intimacy that is if a woman is not yes i'm making something it helps

01:30:56 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 4:

and it's not embarrassing megan i know women though that don't want to bring things into the bedroom for their pleasure because they're embarrassed to do that can i ask a question

01:31:08 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 2:

um when it comes to viagra and i or any of those drugs or whatever um is it is it an issue with your body and like what's happening in your body or is it an issue because i feel like i wonder if women take it as like he's not he's just not attracted to me and that's why like it isn't

01:31:29 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 4:

working a lot of times you don't want to tell your spouse that because you're afraid that they're going to say that i took zialis it wasn't viagra and it was a while ago before my heart aneurysm thing and i was actually younger than i am right now i was probably what 10 years younger or something like that than i am right now but i think that uh a lot of times i think that uh you worry that they're gonna feel like they're not significant enough for you because as much

01:31:53 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 2:

as i would want to know and i would want that to be a conversation and you know i would want the honesty and the communication there i think a part of me would be like he's just not attracted to me so that's why i didn't know like is it a is it truly a medical thing or in some cases could

01:32:05 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 4:

it just be like i think guys do it to last longer i mean honestly where the ladies at who love it

01:32:10 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 5:

Man, can we get some of them callers? Let your man let him pop a rhino from the gas station and get crazy. Like, where y'all at? Rhino. Where y'all at? Initial A.

01:32:21 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 4:

What's up, A?

01:32:21 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Where the hospital dudes? Hi. So my husband ended up using those Roman swipes, which basically, like, numbs him. And he didn't tell me. And so I wouldn't have cared anyways, but I didn't find out until my mouth ended up going numb. Whoa. And I panicked because I didn't know what was going on. Then he told me, so we have an agreement that he has to tell me now whenever he uses a swipe.

01:32:47 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 5:

I can't feel my tongue. Mike Tyson.

01:32:54 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, what's going on?

01:32:56 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 6:

Hi, guys. Good morning.

01:32:57 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning.

01:32:59 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 6:

All right. So when me and my husband started dating, he was having a problem. And he came to me because he was afraid that I was going to think that he was not attracted to me. And it took me a second to, like, reevaluate myself and my sexuality to be like, okay, hold on. Put myself on the back burner. Let's take care of yourself first.

01:33:17 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah. You're a kind person. And were you happy with him taking it?

01:33:22 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. It's been so much better now. I'm grateful for it.

01:33:26 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 5:

Here you go, Cav. You got your call. You got your wish. Aren't you enjoying yourself?

01:33:30 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, thank you so much

01:33:34 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 5:

Of course, you guys have a great day

01:33:35 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 4:

We appreciate you

01:34:00 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 5:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

It's Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Kev, KP, Lydia, Zach, Bianca, and...

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 2:

plethora of people around here it's always good to have everybody around here uh megan uh they they meant it as a compliment but it was no what did they meant it what was it other way they meant

01:35:12 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 4:

it as an insult but it was a compliment yeah really usually so very megan this is my favorite thing that has happened to be in the longest time i so love spending time with my cousins and i have cousin i believe he's 18 baby and i he's the best he truly is i so enjoy hanging out with him he's goofy silly whatever and he was trying to pick a fight with me and i this is going to be very shocking to all of you was getting up in his face being very obnoxious i was poking his buttons and um he was trying to get back at me so at one point he just yelled whatever you're old anyways I go, oh, yeah, I'm so old. How old am I, skibbity toilet? And he rolled his eyes at me. He's like, you're so old, you're like 26. You don't know what you're talking about. And I screamed, because if you don't know, I'm in my early 30s.

01:36:06 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 3:

And I was like, oh, you think I'm 26? You think I'm so old?

01:36:10 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

He lost his mind. He had no idea how old I was.

01:36:13 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

And I was like, oh, you thought that was an insult, but it was a compliment. But I am young. I have the skin of a child.

01:36:21 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 4:

and it turned out to be the best moment ever he was so he was giggling but like rolled his eyes and was so annoyed that he meant to insult me but turns out but it turned out oh has that ever

01:36:31 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 2:

happened to anybody has anybody ever had that happen to them where uh somebody said something to them and they were trying to like put them down but in reality you're like oh that's a badge of honor i love that or that's a that's a great compliment by the way i don't know why and by the call our phone numbers 313-298-9595 text 95500 i don't know why i feel this way But I have this feeling when Megan Evers talks about family other than Scott Mick and her nameless brother. We don't say his name on the radio.

01:37:00 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

We really don't.

01:37:02 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 2:

I feel like she's lying. Because I feel like she has no other family other than those two. Am I wrong in saying that?

01:37:09 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, she's best friends with her cousin.

01:37:10 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 2:

No, but she talks about it. But have you ever seen said cousin? I've never met said cousins at all.

01:37:17 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 5:

In photos, I've seen said cousins. Tiffany called in a couple of weeks ago.

01:37:20 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 2:

That's a fake cousin. I believe it. It's fake. I always feel like when Megan does this, whenever she brings up a story about the family, I feel like she's got a family for hire or something like that. All right.

01:37:32 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 4:

I want to call them out because I know they listen. Stacey, if you're listening. Tiffany. Nick. Matt Preston. Trisha. Chris, if you're listening. Tim. Please. I know all of you listen. You bring up this show all the time. She's got tons of family.

01:37:46 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

She's got, yeah. Throwing out names.

01:37:48 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 4:

And most of them have the last name Mick in Detroit. I know y'all are listening.

01:37:52 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

That's like at 6 o'clock when I say we get a ton of calls and I'm like, you know, talking about fake people that are listening.

01:37:59 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 4:

I posted a picture of me with my cousins over Christmas break and everybody was like, you're related to Trisha Jen? We love them. I'm the least liked cousin out of all of them, too. If you meet any of them, they're more liked than I am.

01:38:09 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, so the cousin that said that you were 26, first off, where do you fall age range with all these cousins? So I am the... He's one of the younger ones?

01:38:18 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 4:

This is hard to say. So it's actually my cousin's child. But I feel like I'm not going to say my second cousin did this.

01:38:24 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 2:

First removed.

01:38:25 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 4:

Right. So it's my cousin Mick and his wife Tiffany. Mick Mick? His name is not Mick Mick. Okay. But his, their oldest, his name is Trent. And that's who said this.

01:38:40 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:38:40 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 4:

But Trent and Ashley.

01:38:42 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Trent, call in. I want to know if you're real.

01:38:44 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 4:

Trent's sleeping. But Tiffany might be listening.

01:38:47 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 2:

By the way, is there anybody listening that has fake family? Like everybody, your family all of a sudden. I wish I did. Because you know what it is? It's like, how many times do we have uncles? Like I'm the uncle for so many kids that are not blood related to me.

01:38:59 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 5:

My kids are so confused by it. They're like, is Auntie Kells actually my aunt? I'm like, oh, no. No, she's just been mom's best friend since kindergarten. Right. I call her Auntie Kells.

01:39:09 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Amy? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

01:39:10 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 1:

Hi, my boyfriend's ex-wife was stalking me with him when I first started dating him, and she took a picture of me and texted it to him and said, Oh my gosh, really? Somebody in their 30s? Don't you think that's a little young for you? I was 50 years old. Oh, did it.

01:39:31 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 2:

You look good, don't you?

01:39:33 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 1:

You loved it. Made me so happy.

01:39:35 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

I love it, Amy. Thank you. I appreciate it, Cousin Amy.

01:39:38 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I'm so annoyed. Any family member, please.

01:39:43 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Just call up the show. And I know that you got the Irish Catholic family, right? Yes. So Irish Catholics, they do it all the time. They never use protection. They have millions of people in their families. Truly. It is crazy. Truly.

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

There's so many of us.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 3:

You know a Catholic when there's, like, six people in the family. Like, how many siblings do you have? Like, I come from... That's the magic number. Yeah, it's crazy.

01:40:07 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 5:

That's my dad's one of six. My dad's one of six. I'm one of six, too.

01:40:09 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 3:

Jeez. Litter. What's up? How you doing, Jill?

01:40:13 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:40:14 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

01:40:14 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on? What was the compliment that was meant to be an insult?

01:40:21 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so my boyfriend's sister called me a skinny bitch while FaceTiming her niece, which is his daughter and i was in the other room oh so you think i'm skinny and i was like all i hear is skinny yes yeah his family his family was so upset but like it really doesn't bother me that's funny

01:40:44 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

okay so to kind of piggyback on this the other day my favorite color is green shocking i know i was wearing all green and tony our boss goes what are you a green bean and i went so you think i'm skinny that's awesome what's up brian how you doing good how are you i have a distant aunt that

01:41:06 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 1:

i don't see very often she lives in illinois and i went and visited her a couple years ago and she had all these black and white antique photos on a wall and i asked her i was like who are these people you know and she goes oh these are my mighty relatives she had gone to antique stores and bought all these old pictures, and then she'd, like, fold people that she was related to them as they were, like, coming into her house.

01:41:27 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. Too funny. I love it. Too funny.

01:41:29 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 3:

When Chelsea and I first got married, we had a frame that had a family in there that looked beautiful. It was, you know how they always came with the picture of some people?

01:41:37 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

01:41:38 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 3:

And we never found the right picture to get in there, but people were like, that is such a great picture of this family that's just sitting there. What's up, David?

01:41:46 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I was calling a comment about the, You said you're an uncle to a lot of kids, but you're not really their uncle?

01:41:53 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:41:53 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 4:

Black people. We call it black people cousins. Is that right?

01:41:57 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 3:

That's great. That's awesome. I like that. It is funny. How many people or kids would you say you're an uncle to?

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 4:

Six.

01:42:08 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 3:

Six. I like uncle.

01:42:09 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

I'm on my way to take two of them to school right now. Oh, that's cool.

01:42:12 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 3:

That is really cool. By the way, I always love when people just call you uncle. Hey, uncle. What's going on, uncle? What's going on? All right, we'll take it.

01:42:21 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 4:

Even my little cousin, my first cousin's children call me uncle.

01:42:25 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 3:

They call it, yeah. Well, dude, you're like the nicest guy in the world. You're taking some random kids, although this could be kind of creepy. You're taking some random kids.

01:42:31 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm not random. Mojo in the morning. What's that? Sounds stupid. Stupider than hell by now. You are nasty. You are stupid. It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:42:44 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 3:

Not getting a call back after you went out on a date. we do second date update right here on the mojo on the morning show mondays and wednesdays at 8 20 lena is with us right now and lena how did you guys meet hi hi um yeah we met on um facebook

01:43:03 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 7:

dating okay and you guys liked each other yeah i thought it actually went really well i really

01:43:12 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

like them and now not hearing back yeah what are your thoughts what do you think do you think that he's just got scared you think he's got somebody else in his life what could possibly be the reason why he's not and what was the last time that you talked to him the hey we're gonna go on another

01:43:31 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 7:

date i mean um yeah we talked probably close to a week ago but i haven't heard him uh heard from

01:43:39 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 3:

him he's not replying to messages anymore well that's the stuff that gets kind of scary doesn't it yeah so in the last time that you guys talked it was good everything was good you guys didn't

01:43:51 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 7:

get into a fight or anything no i thought like i mean it all just like seemed really positive and like i felt really good about it it felt like happy i don't know okay he was good with going on

01:44:03 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 3:

with us so we were able to get a hold of him he talked to us and he's on the phone with us right now. Shane is his name. Shane, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Yes, I am. Shane, will you say hello to Lena? Hello. Hi. So, yeah, we're doing the radio thing. So, Shane, I wanted to kind of hear what the interaction was between the two of you guys, because that always kind of gives me a little tip of what's going on. I have no idea what the story might be, because I just saw a picture of lena i'm like wow she's beautiful and you guys look like a cute couple we just pulled you up on instagram and you're actually a good looking guy and i tell i mean tell us were you guys having fun with each other uh kind of it's just you know we don't have the same hobbies that's kind of what it boils down to what do you mean by hobbies We'll be right back. Uh, well, I mean, the whole time we were hanging out, it was all Disney. Like, whenever it was, like, not my chance to talk, it was just Disney. And then I would try to bring up a new subject, and then it was right back to Disney.

01:45:16 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 4:

Disney? What do you mean by Disney?

01:45:17 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 7:

I love Disney, Lena. Yeah, she just got back from a trip.

01:45:21 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Cool. So she was talking about her trip and overly talking about her trip or talking about Disney?

01:45:30 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 3:

both trip to disney and her upcoming trip to disney and i'm just not you know i'm not really someone who's going to be doing trips to disney especially not like 10 times a year so so lena

01:45:46 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

you're going you you go to disney a lot or is this just a coincidence yeah no i i've been a lot

01:45:53 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 8:

like it's just it's my favorite place in the whole world to be so you're a disney person so you love

01:45:58 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 4:

disney like my son is a disney guy like joe oh gosh yeah joe from the joe show loves disney

01:46:03 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 5:

i get it though yeah i went there for the first time this year ever my very first time and i get it i get why people get excited about it i'm going back for our anniversary so shane is that just a turnoff to you or like obviously it's a turnoff to you disney adults are weird Disney dolls are weird

01:46:23 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 6:

Do you think anybody with a hobby Or like an interest is weird Or just Disney Great question

01:46:29 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 3:

No I think hobbies are great It's just if you're at Disney I just think you're either there with your family Or you're there with your family

01:46:39 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

I mean she She didn't show it with many ears on I mean she just had a great time And wanted to talk about it right

01:46:45 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 4:

I just think this is a whole new world for you How often was this coming up in conversation?

01:46:54 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 3:

That's all we talked about.

01:46:56 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 4:

Really? Lena, are you the type that, like, do you wear a lot of Disney stuff, too? Like, are you a Disney sweatshirt, you know?

01:47:05 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 7:

Tattoos.

01:47:06 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, do you have any tattoos?

01:47:09 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 7:

Not yet.

01:47:10 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 4:

No, really? But you would think about it, huh?

01:47:12 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 8:

I would think about it. I mean, there's some good ones. I've seen good Disney tattoos.

01:47:17 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 4:

See, I may be sexist in saying this, but I think it's less weird that you are in love with Disney and love this than it is, like, that my son is into Disney. Like, I think it's weird. I'm literally wearing a Disney shirt right now. Are you?

01:47:31 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm having a mic in the recording. He's going to have to do it.

01:47:36 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 4:

Like, I think, like, I don't know. I think if a guy is, like, way into Disney, I think it's kind of, I don't know. It just seems goofy.

01:47:42 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 6:

I also feel like And maybe you can call me crazy Whatever, but I feel like it's mostly girls Who are into Disney, so it's weird But when guys are into Star Wars Or Harry Potter World It's not weird, and I don't like that

01:47:57 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 4:

Well no, I think that's weird too I don't think that's weird The Harry Potter World and Star Wars freaks And stuff like that

01:48:03 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 5:

What's weird about it

01:48:06 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 4:

It's like I'm doing magic on you I don't know The guy's dressing up and walking into a place with his wands. I don't know. Megan, no offense, but I think.

01:48:19 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 7:

It doesn't sound like she's that to me. No. I think there's a difference between loving Disney and having a passion about it. And like Kev said, if she was showing up wearing Disney mini ears.

01:48:33 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but she spent the entire day talking about Disney. That's not fun.

01:48:37 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 7:

like i feel like everybody like when you just get back from a vacation or when something big just happens to you that's top of mind yeah it's also what like kids do when they come back from

01:48:48 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 1:

a vacation it's all they talk about it's like you want a real relationship talk about something

01:48:52 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 7:

that's all you guys talked about stacy what's up what do you want to say okay my thing is

01:48:58 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 9:

does he have a hobby is he one of the guys that's obsessed with like football or sports or video gaming i think it's really unfair for this man to say that he's weirded out that she has a love for disney but i bet you anything if he has a love for video games or a love for sports and want to talk about that she wouldn't think he's weird yeah that's a good point you're talking

01:49:25 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 4:

guys who talk a lot of sports maybe doesn't seem weird to you but it could be weird to somebody

01:49:29 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 8:

else what's up whitney yeah i just wanted to tell her this should have been her sign like good written to the grinch like it's just not that serious like i mean i feel like if they're getting to know each other if she just came from the trip i mean maybe she was just excited about the trip maybe it's something to get to know like my boyfriend's really into star wars and i'm completely opposite i'm like a bad girl club type of chick yeah and like we find the time to like I have to sit through the shows.

01:50:00 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 5:

no matter what, because I love him. Oh, that's sweet. The Grinch is actually Universal Studios. I feel like if you like her, get to know her still. That's just one little thing. He sounds like the Grinch.

01:50:11 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 3:

We are so 50-50 divided on this one, by the way, with callers and texts.

01:50:15 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 4:

Really? Yes. Let's get some people that agree with him. What's up, Amanda?

01:50:20 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Mojo. I think I agree with the guy. I think Disney people are weird, but he should be happy that, you know, he found out early, because sometimes they suck you into it and then you're stuck. And then you're stuck. And you're on your fourth trip in freaking Orlando and you just hate the guy at that point, you know?

01:50:39 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

That sounds personal. By the way, yeah, it sounds like she's been through this. Thank you for the call. Hannah, what's up? You also think that Disney adults are weird.

01:50:50 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 7:

I think Disney adults are very odd. I took my kids and I'm sitting in line to meet Cinderella and I have a girl in front of me that's probably mid-30s shaking, so excited to meet Cinderella, and I'm thinking in my head, this lady knows this is really not Cinderella. First off, first off.

01:51:08 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 1:

Don't ruin the magic. Don't ruin the magic. For a second, that is weird. That is weird.

01:51:13 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 2:

One rebuttal to that. We all know how expensive and hard it is to go to Disney or take your family to Disney, and I think a lot of kids growing up, we grew up, like us 90s kids, We were raised on Disney and Disney Channel, and sometimes the first time you get to go is as an adult. It can be exciting to have those adults.

01:51:35 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 7:

Megan, my daughter was six years old looking at this lady like she was a weirdo.

01:51:39 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 5:

I want to teach your daughter not to be so judgmental. You have the money that you spend to go to Disney on therapy for unresolved trauma. That is too much.

01:51:49 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 4:

Jasmine, what did you want to say, Jasmine?

01:51:52 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted to say that I just went to Disney, too. I have two sets of twins. I took all of them and me and my whole family. I loved Disney growing up. But if somebody wanted to talk about Disney the whole day, I would have been annoyed to tell, too. Yeah. Like, talk about something else.

01:52:06 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 4:

You need to have balance.

01:52:07 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't. Yeah. Like, that's not. And it's okay for him. That would be his opinion. Like, there's nothing wrong with that.

01:52:15 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 4:

And I actually don't think it's bad for him to have that as an opinion, too. And I think it's good to catch it early on. But I also think that, you know, any guy that talks about the lions or whoever a lot, you have to understand that there may be some people that may not want to. That would not be the match for me. I just can't win. Emily, what's up?

01:52:35 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so no matter what, if you're on a date with somebody and you're talking about a topic too much in general, that's the problem. Ding, ding, ding. But Disney itself is so special and magical, and Disney adults are not weird at all.

01:52:54 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 4:

Because you are one.

01:52:55 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 7:

I drank the Disney juice. I did not think that was going to happen to me. It's expensive juice. Especially since she just got back from her trip, so you should give her another chance if she wants to go out.

01:53:07 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. I have to do something really quick. Hey, Shane, you just were on Mojo in the Morning's second date update. Now what are you going to do?

01:53:21 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 1:

Not go to Disney.

01:53:23 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 5:

He's going to ride Big Thunder ten times. Whoa.

01:53:27 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 4:

What?

01:53:32 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 3:

If you know what I mean.

01:53:33 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 4:

All right, Lena, there are many Disney adult guys that are on the phone right now wanting Lena's number. She is a smoke show. She's beautiful, so I don't know. Maybe you said Facebook dating is where you're on?

01:53:48 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 7:

Uh-huh.

01:53:49 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 4:

All right, so put it in your profile. Put the Disney in your profile, and then you can't get anybody that will make funny after that, okay?

01:53:57 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 1:

Disclaimer. Great.

01:53:58 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 4:

Disclaimer. Oh, my God.

01:54:00 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 1:

Wow. This is the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update in War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:09 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning show. So Shannon had kind of a weird thing happening to her. And we're going to start off with this one right now. You started wondering, who is that man that you're married to?

01:54:25 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I have a really good friend of mine who I met through church, actually, who is a financial planner. I know nothing about money, you guys. And so as I've gone from radio job to radio job, you know, they give you like a 401k or whatever. And then when you go from one to the other, well, you're supposed to put money in it. Do not put money in yours. I don't know what to do with any of this. I am not good with that. I am not good with that. So like the little bit of money that I have saved over the years, my friend Carl is his name, has helped me put it in accounts that actually like help this.

01:55:00 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 2:

this little bit of money grow. But I'm proud of it, right? Okay. Carl, we love Carl. Shout out to Carl this morning. So anything that happens to this account that I have, I get notified, right? Like if I make any changes to it, or if I take money out of it, or put money into it, whatever. So last week, I get a letter in the mail alerting me that Wes's phone number had been added to my account and I'm thinking well that's really strange because I didn't do that like I didn't go online and add his number to my to my account but I mean in true fashion I think any of us would do this we're like whatever I threw the letter away I'm thinking junk mail I don't know how it happened but okay like it doesn't really bother me that much well then yesterday I get another letter alerting me that Wes's email address was now the contact for my account. So his phone number gets added and then his email address is on there as well. And I'm thinking, no way. This is a hundred million percent. Not me doing this. And Wes and I just had a conversation and specifically said we are not merging like this part of our we're not merging our finances really at all okay so i'm like what in the actual hell is going on and then i get this pit in my stomach because you guys know i watch and listen to dateline every single day that is not an exaggeration andrea canning from dateline is actually a friend of mine now and i'm thinking Like legit friend? Yeah, legit friend. Really? Yes. So I'm thinking to myself, holy spit, Wes is going to off me and collect this little bit of money that I have saved with Carl. I've seen this. And he is going behind. So have I.

01:56:49 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 1:

Dear John.

01:56:50 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 2:

He is going. Yes!

01:56:51 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 1:

That's a Dear John moment right there.

01:56:53 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

What's Dear John?

01:56:54 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 1:

Dear John.

01:56:54 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you need to watch Dear John. Oh, my God. Is it a show or a Connie Britton? It's so good.

01:56:59 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 1:

It was a book that I think became a.

01:57:01 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 2:

Became a podcast. It became a show.

01:57:03 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I thought that was the wrong one.

01:57:05 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I got the movie with Channing Tatum and Amanda St. Frank.

01:57:08 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 1:

No, John is the new boyfriend-husband that steals everything from her.

01:57:15 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 2:

Right out from under her nose.

01:57:17 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 1:

And has done this to multiple women.

01:57:19 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 2:

Holy crap, who did I marry? This man is changing the name on all of my accounts. So I call good old Carl immediately. And as I'm explaining and panicking, actually I did it right after the show yesterday, right there, if you heard me. do you guys mean dirty john dirty sorry i'm trying to find it okay sorry because i do want to watch it so yeah dear john is channing tatum yeah okay but i'm explaining to carl i'm like i got this letter and it said that his you know they put his phone number on my account and then i got another letter today and it said that they that his email address is now the contact and carl starts laughing and he's like oh i met what i i ran into west i met west and we had a great conversation at the coffee with this little neighborhood coffee place this morning and i would love to get together and do dinner with you guys the four of us like carl his wife wes and i and so he's like instead of like you know writing down all of his information he's like i was i i just added it to your account so that's where it was saved so when i went to invite you guys to dinner I would have it right there and he's like and any change that's made to your account automatically it's just the system like kicks out a letter informing you that a change had been made so because he wants to go to dinner with us that's how it and he's too lazy to save it in his phone yeah he saved it on my actual account I get notified and it basically showed that Wes's information replaced mine so I'm thinking I'm going to get murdered yeah And really, it's just Carl wants to have dinner with us.

01:58:58 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a question? Maybe this is a question for Carl. Why are Carl and Wes going to breakfast by themselves?

01:59:06 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 2:

They didn't. Wes was working. He works in like a coffee shop.

01:59:12 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 1:

Where's Andrea Canyon at now?

01:59:13 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

And Carl just went in and he happened to be there and they bumped into each other. He's like, let me get your phone number. That sounds all too convenient.

01:59:21 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 1:

We saw that on Dirty John, Dear John.

01:59:23 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 2:

I thought I was going nuts for a second. And then they planned your murder.

01:59:29 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 1:

We'll be right back with more Dayline NBC coming up in moments.

01:59:33 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 2:

Please just play Defying Gravity and have confetti cannons at my funeral. That's all I care about. Those are my asks.

01:59:38 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

What would you rather? Would you rather, because this is an interesting one, would you rather be robbed or killed? Because I think I'd rather be killed.

01:59:46 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 2:

Depends on the day. He's not getting that much money if he robs me.

01:59:52 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

No, but here's the thing, though. I would rather, like, you were thinking that he was going to kill you, the whole people.

02:00:00 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 5:

that steal things from you, like a guy you meet. If anybody's ever had this happen, has anybody ever had a person that they went on a date with rob them? I'd love to know, or you ended up getting in a relationship with. But I would rather have them just kill me than be broke. Like, I've been broke, and I didn't want to be broke.

02:00:16 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. If you rob me, I'm going to be in a pretty similar financial situation than I am right now, so go ahead.

02:00:23 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 5:

That's right. So pretty much the same thing. What are you going to take?

02:00:27 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 3:

There's nothing there.

02:00:28 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Real quick, KP, make sure I'm on the same phone, because I know you changed my phone system yesterday. Am I on the good one here? Do I know? Let me see. Settings here, details, ba-ba-ba-ba, ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. Is that the right phone system? You did it. Where do I look to see if it's the right phone, just so I know? And we got all kinds of crazy new stuff here, new toys.

02:00:54 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 3:

I like the ta-ta-ta-ta-ta.

02:00:55 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, right there. Okay, there you go.

02:00:57 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 3:

I do love when he's stalling and he doesn't know what to say.

02:01:00 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. I got Amanda. Hey, Amanda.

02:01:03 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Amanda. Hi. Good morning.

02:01:06 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 5:

Amanda, did you have a moment like Shannon had?

02:01:12 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 1:

No, but I want to inform Shannon of something kind of sketchy. So if he already has the phone number and he's on the account and then weeks later he adds an email address, why do you need an email address? If no one emails, Carl and his wife are going to kill you both.

02:01:31 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 4:

Well, the funny thing is, too, the email address was wrong on there.

02:01:36 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 5:

We all know, by the way, that the sketchy people are the ones that go to church. And that was Carl. She met him at church.

02:01:43 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, that would be me, too.

02:01:44 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Hold on a second. Amanda, quick question for you. Would you even know if you started dating a guy if he was robbing you? Because I don't even know my bank stuff. Like, I have no clue.

02:01:58 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 4:

That's the other thing. I couldn't tell you what my username and password is into this account. Like, I'd have to go look for it. I have it saved, but I don't have it just, like, offhand on the top of my head.

02:02:08 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 5:

Like, I have the Work 401k. I'm not going to lie to you guys. I could not tell you how to get to it. I have no clue.

02:02:15 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 4:

Same.

02:02:16 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 5:

None. The only time I know it is if it basically says something to me like, hey, you know, we're changing accounts or something like that. I have no clue with that whole thing. People, by the way, are all thinking that there's something to Carl and Wes hanging out with each other. Listen to this text message. I think Carl and Wes are in cahoots and are going to split the money after they kill Shannon.

02:02:41 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 3:

Defying gravity and confetti, Megan. I'm putting it to you. Let me tell you, I got confetti cannons in my trunk right now. I know you do.

02:02:49 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. And then this is Amy586 says, they did a Dirty John documentary with the real people and it happened it happens watch out um that is true I I will say this to you when you hear those stories and I remember when that thing was out and it was like hot like it was like the big thing they watch I remember we ended up having a call from somebody that had almost exactly the same type of situation where the guy was like amazing they thought he was like going to be this unbelievable stepfather of their children and it was one kid in the family that thought, this guy's bad news. So there you go.

02:03:29 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 2:

A friendly note to the competition. You all can kiss our asses. I feel better. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:03:36 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. Kev back from chaperoning. Yes, I had my chaperone yesterday. Kev, by the way, is never allowed to chaperone ever again. And I want everybody to listen up to this. And Kevin fell asleep while chaperoning for Josiah's field trip.

02:03:55 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 6:

Nice. I don't think that was a bad thing, though. It's not like we were doing anything physically demanding. Like, if we were walking around a museum or I had to, like, literally follow kids or watch kids and I fell asleep, then I think we could have a conversation. We went to the movies yesterday. What better place to fall asleep than in the theater?

02:04:12 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 4:

That's when the kids are bad.

02:04:14 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, they were bad as hell. See?

02:04:15 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 4:

Because you were sleeping.

02:04:17 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 6:

Middle school is not how it used to be. Now, I'm one of those parents where I want to give the children free license to act up a little bit. Because that's what you do when you're on field trips. You let your hair down. You get a little wild. You get a little crazy. When you're in class and you're locked up, so to speak, that's when you have to be quiet. When you're on a field trip, it's your chance to break free. It's your chance to break loose. And I don't want to be the parent. Everybody's like, damn, who daddy is that? Then they're like, that's Josiah daddy. You know, Josiah get picked on. So I'm letting the kids act up a little bit.

02:04:46 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 5:

How are you letting the kids act up a little bit when you don't even know if they're acting up? You're sleeping the entire time.

02:04:51 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 6:

My role wasn't at a level 10. First off, I thought I was just chaperoning or chaperoning Josiah's class. Now, this. here's here's two things that came to my mind one thing i thought i was just chaperoning josiah's class i thought it was only gonna be maybe max 30 kids okay it wasn't it was like 70 kids it was sixth grade seventh grade eighth grade and then it was some 10th graders throwing in there too so when i pull up to the school and i'm thinking we getting on one bus and i see three buses there i'm like oh damn this is more than what i signed up for that's first off second limit to your chaperoning yes in my mind you think you you think you're gonna just handle one class and you show but it's like five classes, my mind is completely wrong.

02:05:31 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 2:

But don't you have a group? I thought I had a group. Like you're not a chaperone at all 70.

02:05:34 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 6:

Listen, it wasn't that organized. It wasn't like, hey, Kev, these are your 30 kids.

02:05:38 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't like that. Like these are your six kids.

02:05:41 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 6:

No, it wasn't like that.

02:05:42 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 3:

So you weren't responsible for anybody specifically with everybody. Exactly.

02:05:46 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't pointing it out. Exactly. It was kind of like all the parents are here for all the kids.

02:05:51 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 3:

I'd love to know. First off, I'd love to know as a kid, do you ever remember a chaperone getting themselves into trouble or like losing a kid? Or have you ever been that chaperone? I've chaperoned all kinds of different things. I know Shannon just recently chaperoned an event for Lucy. The worst chaperoning of any of them are the ones that Shannon just did, which is, I've done too, the overnight stuff. You did that? Because I did overnight in New York and overnight in Mackinac. That's right. And it's horrible. Yeah.

02:06:18 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 2:

And she's already tapped me for Washington, D.C. Oh, that's brutal. Overnight is crazy.

02:06:23 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

But could you imagine if you fell asleep while you're chaperoning?

02:06:26 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like the movie, like, they probably weren't even at Red. They were at Gladiator. I saw a different movie than the one you were sleeping in.

02:06:34 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 3:

Jennifer's a teacher. What would you do if one of your chaperones fell asleep while chaperoning?

02:06:40 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, you are why we can't have nice things. What did I do? Slept. And I say that, I totally say, you cannot fall asleep. They are middle school children. What did you think they were going to do in the dark? Oh, that's nice. Oh, that's cool. No, they do not let their hair down and, oh, you act up. No, you represent the whole school. You represent me. I did not raise a bunch of fools to act like that.

02:07:05 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:07:05 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 5:

You're blacklist. You are on the blacklist. You're not going to grow anymore. I'm going to find out where Josiah is at school and let them know.

02:07:12 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 3:

Did they notice at all that you were sleeping? I don't think so. Like, were you snore sleeping? I wasn't.

02:07:16 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, they knew. Josiah said I was breathing heavily.

02:07:19 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what he said. Miss Jen, Miss Teacher here right now, Have you ever had a chaperone screw up and lose a kid when you were going on any kind of field trips?

02:07:30 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 5:

I did, but we're not going to talk about that.

02:07:34 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 3:

I remember one of the field trips that Chelsea went on, one of the dads, and it's always a dad that screws this whole thing up. The dad ended up getting in trouble because the dad was paying more attention to the other moms than paying attention to the kids. So finally had to get reprimanded by the principal.

02:07:53 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, one of the moms on this trip were paying attention to. Really?

02:07:57 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 5:

Kev, not only were your kids getting frisky, you were trying to get frisky, too. The kids were not getting frisky. I promise you, as a junior high kid who went on a field trip, yes, they were.

02:08:09 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't man in the back row, so I don't know what was going on over there. But the middle section, we was good.

02:08:13 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 3:

For the 10 minutes, I was like, you are a bad influence. Hold on. Actually, Misfit Victor, you just recently, we got him on the phone with us. He recently was on a field trip where he was chaperoning. You're probably never getting invited back because you were a pain in the butt, weren't you?

02:08:31 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it was the biggest waste of time ever in the history of the world. I mean, we took these kids to Washington, D.C. and had eight kids, and I think five of them will be in prison by the time they're 22. Oh, boy. Easily. Like, we get to Gettysburg, and I'm like, you kids study about Gettysburg at all? No. We go to all these war memorials. You guys ever study about this war? No. So I told the organizer, I said, why are we here? These kids know nothing about this. Next year, just go to Cedar Point. This is just a waste of time and money. Oh, my God. They're too happy with me. Oh, you can't drink beer. You can't drink beer while you're a chaperone.

02:09:09 - 02:09:10 | Unknown:

What am I supposed to do?

02:09:10 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Kev, did you have any alcohol from the Imagine Bar at all? They closed it, unfortunately. did they? Maddie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

02:09:20 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you? Good.

02:09:21 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 3:

What's happening?

02:09:23 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 4:

When I went to fifth grade camp, my grandpa chaperoned, and he taught his cabin how to play poker. Oh, no. Oh, no. That is so good. Life skills. Oh, that is so good.

02:09:35 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Did he get in trouble for that? Did somebody say anything? I don't

02:09:40 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 4:

know, but also two years later when he took my sister, there was like a kissing scandal that he had to deal with with the kids oh no that's crazy yeah that that's

02:09:51 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 3:

the thing you got to worry about especially with those middle schoolers what's up george hi

02:09:55 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

hey mojo i just wanted to say hi back to kevin we missed him yet

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 3:

say he already got me all hyped up this morning yeah isn't he the best isn't he crazy yeah he was

02:10:05 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 1:

he was actually allegedly chaperoning josiah's field trip he was taking a nice nap man i know

02:10:13 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

he is always you brother welcome back brother appreciate it my man by the way i wouldn't let

02:10:18 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

kevin chaperone megan going going anywhere those two together would get themselves arrested All right. We'll talk to you later, buddy. See you, George.

02:10:28 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 2:

All right, bye. Bye. All right. Check out our Facebook page, Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:35 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. I saw this stat, and I thought, there's no way this could be possible. But then when I realized who are some of the people that fall in this category, I realized, yeah, I could see it possible. And this is no offense to any of you that it might be in this thing, because actually, this is a deal. Where are my Gen Zers at? I'm Gen Z, right? No. You've aged out of Gen Z. You're a millennial. I sound better anyway. Yeah. So this is for Lydia and KP. And Zach, Zach's under 30, isn't he? How old is Zach? Zach, how old are you? He's 29. No one knows. He's a millennial. So just by a year, he made this. This is actually a good thing to not be a Gen Z-er. This stat, to me, is one of the funniest ones out. According to a survey, one in five Gen Zers can't change a light bulb.

02:11:31 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what?

02:11:32 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 1:

In a new survey, one in five people between the ages of 18 and 28 years old claimed that they couldn't change a light bulb.

02:11:41 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 4:

I understand this. Why? What?

02:11:43 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 1:

And.

02:11:44 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, screw it.

02:11:45 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Would just hire someone else to do it.

02:11:48 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 4:

So many of the new ones don't even have light bulbs. They're just like those LED lamps. So a lot of my lamps don't even have bulbs. And those bulbs that they have replaced all the halogens with, all of those LED ones, lasts like 10 years. So if you lived at your parents' house, when was the last time a bulb was even changed?

02:12:07 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 5:

Even like the LED ones that I put in my lamp, you just screw them out and screw a new one in. Right, but when was the last time you did that? Bro, but even if you've never done it. Yeah, literally yesterday, which is so funny because I got a new lamp.

02:12:18 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean?

02:12:19 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't. Even if you've never done it, it literally is, you go left.

02:12:23 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 4:

You sound like the people that, to me, would go, how do you not know how to send a fax?

02:12:30 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 1:

That's completely different.

02:12:31 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not. But that's not something that you would need to do anymore.

02:12:35 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 1:

Light bulbs are more common than a fax machine. That's a bad analogy.

02:12:39 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I disagree. I think lamps are changing. And also, if you lived at your parents' house, they switched it out once every 10 years.

02:12:46 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 1:

Because your parents, me, me, your dad, we screwed up. We didn't make you do this. And you guys didn't come watch us do it. So that's the thing. It's a light bulb.

02:12:56 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so this to me, though, is.

02:12:58 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Did your dad ever make you screw a light bulb in at all?

02:13:00 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, of course he did.

02:13:02 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 1:

So you know how to do it.

02:13:03 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 4:

Right. But I'm being understanding towards others because they don't have the same things we did growing up.

02:13:08 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 1:

You're very good at understanding others. I understand that. But sometimes you don't have to. I just feel like that.

02:13:13 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 5:

You look at it and you're like, oh, this is easy. This is dumb.

02:13:16 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 1:

You know? it's just like a dumb people so i you can you can actually not be sympathetic to like if you

02:13:21 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 5:

said change a tire i would be like okay i understand first off i could not change my own tire but that's like a multi-step process that requires some skill changing a light bulb it's

02:13:35 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 1:

not that this is by the way here's the interesting thing as far as the light bulbs let me finish the stat here real quick the stat is one in five uh people say that they are gen zers could not change a light bulb they would hire somebody to do it especially if it was a ceiling fan because they said going up on a ladder would be too dangerous for them that was literally the response on this

02:13:57 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

thing what's up jennifer hi hi um do you know they have a vacuum attachment to change light bulbs

02:14:04 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

they do they do the kirby's used to do it oh my god i called to tell you that everybody's losing

02:14:11 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

in their brain because they cannot hear you

02:14:13 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 1:

online. Oh, they can't hear us on the... Oh, hold on. Gen Zers are in charge of that.

02:14:17 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Before the last commercial break, they couldn't

02:14:19 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 1:

hear you. KP, they can't hear us on the live stream right now because there's no audio at all, they said. Can you hear us? Uh-oh, we've got to figure out why the audio

02:14:27 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 3:

is not working. I can hear you on my Alexa and I know you had a commercial break,

02:14:31 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 2:

but I don't know anything besides that.

02:14:33 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Maybe it was during the commercial break and muted commercials or something.

02:14:35 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I just fixed it. Somebody clicked this button

02:14:37 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

yesterday. It wasn't me. By the way, you're in Gen Z. aren't you i'm jenzy me yes can i be honest with you on this there are a lot of things that i think a lot of us can't do and i'm going to tell you some things that i can't do jen i i came up with this list three things that i can't do number one i can't clip my toenails what i have no idea what it is

02:15:00 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 3:

about clipping my toenails, I have a hard time clipping my toenails.

02:15:03 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 5:

Who clips your toenails then? Maybe you think you're going to die if you bleed out.

02:15:07 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not even so much cutting myself. For some reason, I'm too fat to reach my toenails. I know people like you. You'll be okay. You'll get that. No, I go and get pedicures. So I go get pedicures.

02:15:19 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 5:

Every time you need to clip your toenails, you go get a pedicure?

02:15:21 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 3:

I usually do, yes. So I keep up on my toes.

02:15:25 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 6:

And Chelsea probably only goes once a month.

02:15:28 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 3:

Number two, I cannot put bedsheets on. I'm not good at putting bedsheets on. Interesting. I've tried to make the bed. Chelsea says I'm horrible at this. You just don't want to do it. No, it always, like, pops off on one of the ends. I can't figure out why it is. Why don't they make the bedsheets bigger? And number three, I have never in my life ever been able to do Legos. I cannot do Legos. For real? I have no artistic ability, if you would call it for Legos, to do Legos. Like, my kids are so obsessed with Legos. and they used to sit around and do Legos all the time. They built even that big Star Wars one. I literally looked at them like, that's crazy. Like, I can't do it. I don't know what's going on.

02:16:06 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 2:

Are you guys Lego people? I mean, I love Legos. Josiah, when he was younger, was really into Legos. And I'm the type, like, I'll take over, and it'll become my thing and not, like, our thing. I'll just get really into it. You just got to read the instructions, though.

02:16:17 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, I don't read instructions. Look who you just said that, too. I can't read. Never mind. By the way, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's the simplest thing that you just can't do? Sean, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:16:31 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. A few years ago, I discovered that my kids didn't know how to pump gas.

02:16:38 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Chelsea told me I failed our boys because we got a phone call one time from Luke asking how to put gas in his gas tank.

02:16:48 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 4:

What y'all mean? You know what you can't do, Mojo? And I thought about it. I thought about it. I was like, wow, I never really showed them. And I had to show them how to use the credit card. And I had to walk my daughter into the gas station and show her how to do it when you pay with cash.

02:17:00 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 3:

But, you know, my dad never showed me this. I just watched him do it. And then I modeled myself after that. Do we have to actually physically show them?

02:17:08 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 4:

Yep. That's what I had to do.

02:17:10 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 3:

God. Sean, we've failed, haven't we?

02:17:14 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 4:

You know, yes, that's what I said. When they didn't know how to pump gas, I failed as a mother.

02:17:18 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 3:

I failed. Hold on. You did not fail his mother.

02:17:22 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 1:

Mojo doesn't know how to turn on his ringer, or off his ringer. That's true. Because every single show this week, a phone call has happened, a meow, or an email has happened. No, that's his alarm.

02:17:33 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 5:

That's the alarm in his house, somebody walking in.

02:17:35 - 02:17:38 | Unknown:

You are a dumb mother******.

02:17:38 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am. I am. So seriously, I'll take it. You're right. I'm down. I don't do that. And the light bulb. Why is it that when you reach 50 years old, and I don't know if this happens to you, Sean, Your flashlight randomly goes on on your phone. It always happens.

02:17:56 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 1:

And you don't realize for an hour.

02:17:59 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 3:

What's up? How you doing there, Amy?

02:18:02 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you guys?

02:18:04 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. What's going on?

02:18:06 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so I know a simple task is changing light bulbs. I know that I jumped on. You guys are talking about these Gen Zs, and they don't know how to do nothing like that. But I am a big girl. I weigh about 230 pounds, and I live in a mobile home. So, you know those lights that are really high up in the ceiling? Well, I had to change those. I had to stand on top of my kitchen island and change it. Let me tell you, I thought I was going to fall through that island. I was so scared.

02:18:38 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 5:

Like, my kids are going to find me like this.

02:18:42 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 3:

Can you imagine? Lady dies in mobile homes.

02:18:45 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 5:

Good job, though.

02:18:46 - 02:18:47 | Speaker 3:

At least you didn't.

02:18:47 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, changing light bulbs. That would be like the whole Oxford news line. Yeah. You know, it would be hilarious.

02:18:56 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, question for you, Amy. How many square feet is your mobile home?

02:19:01 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 6:

It's about almost 1,600 square feet.

02:19:03 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's a big one. That's a big place. It's a super mobile home. I didn't realize that. Yeah.

02:19:07 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 6:

Yep, we have, it's four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, a big open kitchen. That's amazing. A mobile mansion. Laundry room. It's considered a manufactured home.

02:19:20 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that's sweet. No, that's nice.

02:19:22 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 6:

When you said mobile home, I was thinking... Yeah, but those light bulbs are a killer, man.

02:19:27 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking RV when you said that, and I was thinking to myself, because I'm a big man, too, and I got to tell you that I was thinking, like, I'd be in the kitchen and the living room at the same time.

02:19:37 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 6:

No, like, it was legit terrifying. And then, like, the other light bulbs, I have to stand on top of our bar stools. And, you know, metal ain't made the way it used to. And I could just see me getting on that stool. And, you know, the part from Shallow House. Yes. No. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 3:

I love you, Amy. Thank you for the call. Appreciate you.

02:20:05 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 4:

I love you guys. Have a great day.

02:20:07 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 3:

Take care of yourself. Carissa, what is it that you can't do?

02:20:12 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 4:

You guys, I can't change my windshield wiper.

02:20:15 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 3:

I can't either. Oh, I can't do that. No way.

02:20:18 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 6:

You're talking about the actual wiper, not the fluid, right? Maybe both, I guess. I wouldn't know how to change the wiper.

02:20:27 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't have a clue either. Yeah.

02:20:29 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 6:

You're not alone.

02:20:30 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You're good. Okay, good. You're good.

02:20:33 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 6:

They do it when you get your oil changed. Yep.

02:20:35 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

02:20:36 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't believe you guys are paying for somebody to do that.

02:20:39 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

See that? Wait, but you're saying that the light bulb people aren't...

02:20:42 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 5:

No, I just say I understand it. Just like I understand why you guys don't know how to do it. You change her windshield wipers?

02:20:48 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 3:

I do. She's a car...

02:20:49 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 6:

She changes her own oil, her own everything. No, she's... No.

02:20:53 - 02:20:54 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

02:20:54 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 3:

Megan honestly turns all the skies on when she talks about the car stuff that she can do. It's actually great. What else can you do?

02:21:02 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was thinking to kind of fit into this topic, what I can't do. And I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to fill out a paper voting ballot when I moved to Michigan. Oh, wow. It was so difficult. I did not understand it at all.

02:21:16 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't know how to do, like, my own taxes or anything like that. Like, I wouldn't be able to figure that thing out. Murphy, you there?

02:21:23 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:21:23 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 3:

What can you not do?

02:21:25 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 1:

I can't iron.

02:21:27 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Murph dog.

02:21:31 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 1:

I know, right? You can't be out here wrinkle.

02:21:35 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm going to get a steam machine too because I'm with you. Steam's way better. I can't iron either. I one time ironed a crease so bad into my clothes I couldn't get it out. It took two washes to get the crease back out. I get it. I get it.

02:21:47 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm back in the dryer. Smartest move ever. Go to steam on. Alexis, what's up?

02:21:53 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 4:

Hi, first time, long time. Hey, Max is on the phone. Actually, in high school, Megan, I used to work with your brother at Vito's.

02:22:02 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my good Lord. How often were you drunk in my driveway?

02:22:07 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, that wasn't me. That was probably my cousin, honestly. Happened a lot. But after graduation, I ended up working at Berry Bagels. and there were kids there there were kids there that did not know how to fill a mop bucket let alone use the mop on the floor like they would be scraping the metal part of the mop against the ground instead of actually trying to use the brush part and it was just absurd it's like how have you gone this long in your life and you haven't learned how to pick up after yourself it's the most absurd thing

02:22:46 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's amazing You know what? They probably had parents that did everything for them, right?

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it was Sylvania, so.

02:22:55 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 3:

Rich people. Can I tell you something? It was always, to me, the kid who had the single mom. If you had a single mom, you did everything. And you got to do it because mom was working and she was doing stuff and you just had to know how to do it. Like I remember one kid came to school one time and he had a single mom and he made himself the most beautiful sandwich I've ever seen. Come on. And it cut it and I go, your mom is the greatest. He goes, my mom. He goes, I did that. I'm like, are you kidding me?

02:23:21 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? You learn a lot with a single mom.

02:23:23 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So single mom, shout out to all the single moms out there. My, uh, my, uh, one of my favorites ones on here, cause I don't know if any of you guys have ever had to do this, but Mickey, what is it that your daughter didn't know how to do?

02:23:35 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 1:

When my daughter moved out on her own, she didn't know how to fill out a check, but in her defense, she never used them. Yeah. But she also didn't know how to address an envelope. Yeah.

02:23:46 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, those are two, so look, my husband always makes me check if we have to like randomly write a check for something, because he didn't know either, and the envelope thing, that's a super popular one.

02:23:58 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 3:

Where to put the stamp, where to put your return address, where to even put your zip

02:24:02 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 6:

code on there, like do you put it on the same line or underneath?

02:24:05 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 3:

All right, here's a big one. Katie, last one. Katie, what is it that you can't do?

02:24:11 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 4:

I can't figure out how to make grilled cheese.

02:24:13 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 3:

Come on now, Katie.

02:24:15 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean? I don't know. I've just always had people make it for me. So I'm like, can you make me grilled cheese? And I've never needed to figure it out. Oh, okay.

02:24:25 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 2:

I want your life. Spray that pan. Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Both sides. No, don't learn.

02:24:29 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 6:

Mayonnaise on both sides. It's even better. Way better than butter. I promise you. I promise you. I'm not trying. It's both, but don't learn. Yeah. Keep that down with us even better.

02:24:41 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

02:24:56 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 6:

While we're waiting, Kev, can I ask you why you went outside to take a walk?

02:25:00 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 5:

poop in the port-a-potty versus using our bathroom we only got one bathroom in this place and the way my stomach was going crazy i'm eating a lot of chili lately because the weather calls for chili i'm like bet we on commercial i gotta go doodle real quick let me knock this out i literally saw him run outside was there somebody in yes i go in there and i see these white tennis shoes with the black nikes look like the ones brendan got on right now i'm like y'all gotta go i almost went into the women's restaurant i'm like you can't do that so i'll go lady and i in there peeing. I don't see the security guard. I'm like, is there another bathroom? He's like, nah, bro. I'm like, ah. How cold, wait, how cold is it in the port-a-potty? It's cold as hell, but when you got a doodoo, that's on your mind. That's the only thing you worried about. I didn't even know there was a port-a-potty outside. The security guard told me. He was like, no, there's no bathroom in here, but it's a port-a-potty out. I was like, I gotta go, bro. There's a port-a-potty? When we did the turkey

02:25:47 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

shoot, they were out there. I was focused. Oh. Hold on.

02:25:50 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 4:

Do we, is there any, does anybody know what the, what is going to happen in this building? Like, do we know, like, has anybody called or talked to, should we call the bosses and ask them?

02:26:05 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean? Like, when other tenants move in and there's still only one bathroom?

02:26:08 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 4:

Like, are we only going to have, like, we do only have one stop. There's got to be a bathroom upstairs. There's got to, but.

02:26:13 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 3:

At some point, there's a restaurant going in.

02:26:16 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 5:

Construction is still underway.

02:26:17 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Where are they going to park?

02:26:19 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. But I'm not worried about where they're going to park. I'm worried about where I'm going to park my booty if we do have to go to the bathroom. And the fact that you went to a – Porta potty.

02:26:29 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 5:

It wasn't that bad. Really? You got to go – listen, I second-guessed it, right? Because I'm like, man, I got to go outside, da-da-da-da-da. I went back in and said, are you going to be in there long? And I didn't hear no, so I had to just go.

02:26:44 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 4:

To me, if I have to go to the bathroom, I'm going in the women's bathroom before I'm going into a port-a-potty that's in 20-degree weather, not even 20-degree weather.

02:26:55 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 3:

Again, that wouldn't have helped him because we only have two stalls. I was in one. Lydia was in the other.

02:26:59 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 5:

Lydia was right behind me until we were walking. I figured she was going in there.

02:27:03 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Like, I hate to say this, but I think that if that happens, I'm just doo-dooing in the bathroom sink.

02:27:12 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, a bridesmaid's. Yeah. It's happening. It's happening.

02:27:16 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 4:

I'm going into the bathroom sink, and then I'm cleaning up later.

02:27:20 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 1:

or duty duty on the floor in a trash can yeah hi this is colleen i can't take your call at the moment if you could text me i'd sure appreciate it rather than leaving a message okay thanks a lot

02:27:34 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 4:

bye-bye how do i text her about duty uh colleen hi calling from the next door studio here right now this is uh mojo uh we had a building uh issue that we wanted to ask you and i don't know what our lease says but do can you please uh just give us a detail on how many toilets do we plan on having in this building eventually uh kevin today almost had to duty on the floor so i just wanted to make sure that uh that you knew that and brought it to your attention and i wanted to text this but i was a little bit worried that duty and text is not a good idea so i'd leave a verbal message uh thank you uh happy new year by the way oh my god bye you know what it's got to be

02:28:21 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 5:

it's got to be like a what do they call it like a fire call violation or something like you know what i mean how you have to have so many exits depending upon the population of people you have

02:28:31 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 4:

or handicapped spaces depending on how many spots there are bathrooms hey zach can you uh run real quick and just grab the building maintenance guy uh what's what's his name he also works for the red one brand brandon brandon brandon brandon brandon brandon and not not our not our brendan right but brandon yeah brandon who is christos's building maintenance man and ask he's got to have like the blueprints i'd like to see what the blueprints i want to hear tony's thoughts we'll

02:29:02 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 3:

call him the poop prince uh should we call tony yeah he's everybody in that meeting over there he loves talking about poop there's a big meeting happening sales meeting yeah is there is this the

02:29:13 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 4:

Ask Tony, though. Is this the first one of the year?

02:29:16 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 3:

He shouldn't be in that minute.

02:29:17 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hold on a second.

02:29:19 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 3:

They have snacks?

02:29:20 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 4:

Tony Travato was at the game late last night, too. I don't think he got out of the parking lot with Christopher and Nick until, like, two in the morning or something like that. So he may be a little late today.

02:29:32 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 2:

You butthole.

02:29:35 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 4:

Was that a sneeze?

02:29:36 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, yawn first, okay?

02:29:38 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 4:

You fall.

02:29:38 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 2:

The yawns are going out. There's a line coming next.

02:29:40 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 4:

by the way i am i am a sympathetic pooper now i have to go to the bathroom hello tony hi what a win huh what a win good morning yeah what a win it was unreal i thought we were talking about poop okay you're listening tony's always listening actually

02:30:00 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 1:

as far as dan campbell would say holy crap i love tony's laugh have you brought to the attention of uh colleen or maybe the iheart people that we don't have enough stalls because we've talked about this numerous times on our show

02:30:18 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 2:

man it is a it is a huge problem and i've got a porta potty coming to put in the corner of the studio because yeah you walk into that you walk into that bathroom and it's like man you are right

02:30:31 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 3:

on top of the person in the stall or what happens though if there's somebody in the stall and you

02:30:36 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 2:

really really really really need to go which is what just happened to kev or what if you walk in and the person in the stall had some really bad i know chili bad chili but also tell me why did

02:30:50 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 3:

you say you were going to put the porta potty in our studio that just feels rude yeah let's not put

02:30:55 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 2:

it in our studio but the filtration in let's talk about the filtration though the bathroom

02:31:00 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 1:

because it's it's not good it is but it has to be that they're gonna eventually build more bathrooms somewhere right they'll have more places for us to go to well there's somebody in

02:31:13 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 2:

the building that there has to be because we're the first tenant but there's um uh there's somebody in the building that that had had the best idea and that's look for the look for the private bathroom that's elsewhere in the building there's got to be right like haven't figured that out yet

02:31:30 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 1:

like the one thing one thing about christos he owns a lot of fine establishments i know this greek people go to the bathroom and there's no way that at any of the places that i've ever gone that this man and his family owns has there only been one stall is the only place i know that there I thought that some human being had actually dropped a grumpy, pardon the term, onto the bed. But I know that we had to move out of that building that we were in because we were going to have to pay another month's worth of rent or something like that.

02:32:10 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 3:

I miss those bathrooms. Private stalls and so many.

02:32:13 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 1:

It's so funny. Everything that we hated about that building Sometimes does come into play Where we're like I guess it really wasn't so bad You know what it is It's like when you move from your kids Like as a kid Your parents get a new house It should be exciting Instead you go Oh I'm reminiscing a little bit So Alright Well Tony If you can You got a department head meeting today Can you bring this up In the department head meeting for us

02:32:37 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I'm very excited to bring that up Alright Thank you

02:32:41 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 1:

We appreciate it boss Talk to you later Go Lions. See you guys. Go Lions. Go Lions. By the way, do you think that the Lions, how many bathrooms do you think they've got in that locker room?

02:32:52 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 3:

So many.

02:32:52 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 1:

That locker room's got to be.

02:32:53 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 3:

I bet you they each have their own. They're numbered. You think Dan's is gold.

02:32:57 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're at LCA, so you go into the locker room for the Pistons. Do they have multiple stalls? And also, are their toilets big stalls? Are they tall stalls for these tall men? Yeah, and then once you flush, it goes, Detroit.

02:33:17 - 02:33:17 | Unknown:

Let's go.

02:33:18 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 2:

Billions of dollars in lottery drawings happening. But unfortunately, this is the best radio show a few dollars will buy. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:33:26 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning show talking about something that fascinates me more than ever.

02:33:31 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, same.

02:33:32 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 1:

I get so fascinated when I find out that people have either missing body parts or extra body parts. I think missing body parts fascinates me more than extra body parts, but extra body parts, I don't feel so bad talking about. Missing ones that could have been a bad accident.

02:33:49 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so yesterday, Wes and I went to the gym in the evening, and I always put my purse and my coat in a locker. So after we're done, I go back into the locker room, and there's two levels of lockers. I'm a little short, so I tend to put my things on the lower level of locker. So I'm crouching down. What did you say? I said, imagine that. Yeah. Or else I have to stand on my tippy toes to get my stuff. But I'm crouching down to get my purse out of my, out of the locker. And a lady comes right up next to me. She has the locker that's above mine and over one. And I notice as I'm grabbing my stuff that she's wearing flip-flops. So I thought, okay, she must have showered. Like this is all happening in like 10 seconds. but i happen to glance at her feet and in her flip-flops she has six toes oh yeah actually i correct myself in her flip-flop she has five toes under the strap her sixth bonus toe is above the strap you guys I could not look away how do you do this

02:35:00 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 4:

little piggy with an extra toe are you another piggy goes somewhere else there's a lady in there and she has six toes and he's like okay whatever that's great and i'm like no no no she was wearing flip-flops and i'm fascinated at how she chose which five toes go under the flip-flop strap and which lucky toe goes above the flip-flop strap because she couldn't fit them all in the space underneath do you have to pay more at a pedicure great question don't know and i he goes well did she have six toes on the other foot and i'm like dang it i didn't look i was so fascinated

02:35:41 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 2:

by just the one so i don't know if she had 11 or if she had 12. i'm i'm fascinated by the first off when you said she had six toes i'm like oh the poor lady lost some toes she must have like gangrene or something but but six on one wait did you know what the the other one i just said no i know but

02:36:00 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

say it again no i didn't i didn't look west asked the same question by the way yeah i because i didn't look i was so fascinated by the one because it caught me off guard that there was just one

02:36:12 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 1:

lonely toe on top oh they they only make shoes for like five toes so she probably didn't have enough room for the seat wow yeah you want me to get that for you she had to make do no that

02:36:24 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 2:

that was someone calling 12 toes that was lydia that was lydia calling me i always call our phone line uh lydia uh just to make sure i have it set up on the screener right oh okay because i was

02:36:34 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 3:

like let me call this listener back they hung up that was me call me back call me back call me back

02:36:38 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 4:

hold on i got something to say i got something to hear from you if you have an extra body part

02:36:43 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 2:

though hold on a second uh hello am i on the air can i put myself on the air here please put me on on hold please all right here we go this little piggy went to the market this little piggy stayed at home i'm the delay is killing me i know this little piggy went to planet fitness this little pity piggy had none or something i don't know i can't do it the delay was killing me i felt like you were fascinating by the way i think my mic's not as good as the phone line there that was actually a pretty good sounding phone line um i would like to know if there are any listeners that are checking out the show that either they or somebody that they love has an extra body part and what is that extra body part in do you guys actually accentuate it like if i had if i had an extra nipple i'd make it like a sun harry style that's actually very

02:37:34 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 4:

common though extra nipples are very very styles has like seven nipples would you get it pierced

02:37:38 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 2:

i would tattoo it i would tattoo around it they're not that big kev they look they're like the size have a pencil tip not even and most of the time they're not protruding wait here's a question if you go get your nipples pierced and you say i have three nipples do you have to pay for the two sets no you know you get two you get two airings with things yeah like what like it's the unusual number they don't sell usually do they it's got to be like buy two get one free is that it's got to be like that they should actually run that as a promotion and why is it that some flip-flop company hasn't come up with flip-flops for people with extra toes or six fingers i know a girl with

02:38:19 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 3:

no toes yeah with no toes yeah she was just born with no toes so i've actually never seen her feet she's never once shown her feet really socks or i would water shoes or something she thinks that looks really weird um like a sledgehammer yeah but the rest of her foot apparently is like super normal like everything else looks like i'd be self-conscious of no toast yeah 844 mojo live

02:38:43 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 2:

844-665-6548 if you're dialing with an extra finger this morning i'll say it slower x extra 844-665-6548-844 mojo live are you okay

02:38:58 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, by the way, brings up a... You win all the Texas wins because you're so fast.

02:39:05 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you win the Kendrick Lamar tickets faster than anybody.

02:39:09 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 1:

Not even going. You're on it.

02:39:11 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 2:

Kevin brings up a really interesting point with the gloves. Like, if you've got to put on a pair of gloves or winter gloves, what do you do? Do you have to double up and one?

02:39:19 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 4:

No, you need mittens. You just have to use mittens. I like mittens better anyway. You guys, I have an aunt who had extra toes on both feet, and she had to get them removed. Wow. Why? She just couldn't fit into any shoes?

02:39:32 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 2:

Man. Yeah, yeah. I don't know. Oh, hold on. She's grabbing a phone line. Hey, Mojo in the morning. Hello. Oh, I lost you there. Oh, sorry. What do we do? Do we just pick up the phone line at the same time?

02:39:43 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 4:

No, I tried to send them through.

02:39:45 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 2:

And it didn't come through?

02:39:46 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 4:

No, they dropped. What's happening to me?

02:39:47 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, here we go. I got this one. All right. Put it on hold. I'll grab this one right here. Hello, Mojo in the morning.

02:39:55 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

I was calling about the extra digits on your feet and stuff.

02:40:00 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, which one are you calling about? Where do you got an extra digit?

02:40:03 - 02:40:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, it was my girlfriend. She was born with an extra toe. Her cousin was born with two extra toes. My girlfriend's toe was taken off. Her cousins, they kept them.

02:40:15 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 1:

Really? Did they live near, like, a power plant or something?

02:40:19 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 2:

Bessie.

02:40:21 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

No, no. Everything was normal. They just had extra toes. So when my kids were born, that's the first thing we looked at were the toes. when they came out to make sure they had all 10.

02:40:31 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, right, exactly. That would make me wonder if I did marry her, have a child with her, would we have kids that genetically just kept on growing toes? Yeah, I don't know. Did it cause her to walk differently? She probably couldn't wear high heels, could she?

02:40:50 - 02:40:59 | Speaker 4:

No, no. So she couldn't wear regular shoes. They had to take her extra digit off, but her cousin was okay to keep them, So she still has extra toes.

02:40:59 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 3:

I wonder what was better about her toes.

02:41:01 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't know. Here's the question. When you have the extra toe, it sounds to me like in Shannon's workout friends, the person that she met at the gym. I know the lady who shares a locker by her. It sounds to me like it wasn't the big toe. What if the big toe was the thing?

02:41:19 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 3:

It was not the big toe. It was third in line. Like if you have two big toes, can you wiggle them? One toe, another toe, then extra toe. Two middle toes? It was big.

02:41:31 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's crazy.

02:41:32 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 3:

It was one of the bigger guys.

02:41:34 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, where are you calling from? You calling from the west side of the state? Toledo. Toledo. You're in Toledo. Okay. So, yeah, I could see this in Toledo. I don't know. I can kind of see it. I don't know.

02:41:47 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 4:

There might be the water here. I don't know.

02:41:49 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 1:

There have been talk about that. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. All right. Thank you. Somebody said that there is a term for this, and extra digits are called a polydactyly. Is that what it is? Polydactyly?

02:42:05 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

She's on line seven.

02:42:07 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 1:

Line seven. What is it called?

02:42:10 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's called polydactyly. When I was in nursing school, there was a whole bunch of infants that were born, like one day, that had several extra digits, so we called it polydactyly day.

02:42:23 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. They actually have a full day based on this.

02:42:27 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

Yes, told me based on it. So, yeah, it's very common, especially in the medical field.

02:42:31 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 1:

When you're a nurse in a hospital and the person comes out with these extra toes, do you guys just sit there and all call each other over from other departments? Do you get to see this?

02:42:40 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 2:

No, because it's so common. We talk about other very weird things.

02:42:44 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Anybody you know come out with an extra nose? Or, like, is this only the thing that happens with fingers and toes?

02:42:52 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

i personally only seen the extra fingers and toes in my career but i'm sure other people have seen

02:42:59 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 1:

other different things i would love it to have an extra eye i would that would be like the thing an eye in the back of your head or something what's up brian how you doing i'm doing good

02:43:09 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 5:

brian you had extra digits yes i when i was born i had 12 toes i had one extra on each foot and then about six years ago they actually had to go in and surgically remove uh what they classified as a 13th digit because it kind of regrew itself oh my god were you like the star

02:43:34 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 1:

of the football team like were you the running back or what did it cause you to do anything

02:43:38 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 5:

better no i didn't play sports but i know my uncles won a lot of bets because of that betting people that I had extra digits.

02:43:48 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 1:

You were using YouTube, right? By the way, you'd probably be good at math earlier. You know what I mean? You'd be able to just sit there and count on fingers and toes. What's up, bud, John? How you doing? Good, you? Good, buddy. John, you worked with somebody with extra fingers. Now, that would be something to say.

02:44:06 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 6:

Yep, he had five fingers on each hand plus a thumb, and we worked at a chemical plant, and you had to wear gloves. Oh, jeez. And we didn't have minutes. So what did he do? He stuffed one finger in and doubled up on the glove hole. Oh, my God.

02:44:23 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 3:

That had to not be comfortable.

02:44:25 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 1:

Do you call him a name? Like, do you say, do you call him Five Finger John or Six Finger John? What do you call him?

02:44:32 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 6:

No, you know, you actually had to count them. When I first found out about it, I'd worked with him for quite a few years and didn't even notice it because it looked so natural. He didn't even notice it.

02:44:44 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 1:

It's amazing. Does he have to pay extra to get a manicure? That's wild. Well, thank you for the call, John. I appreciate it. By the way, hence, worked in a chemical plant. Did you notice what he just said?

02:44:55 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. That's true. All right. Thank you.

02:45:00 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 4:

and not a worry in a world of cold beer in my hand life is good today life is good today man i miss complaining about the heat shut up this is mojo in the morning mojo in the morning show

02:45:17 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 3:

cav had a very interesting uh thing happen to him that is now making him wonder can short guys be

02:45:26 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 2:

with tall girls yeah and i would love to hear from any uh amazonian queens out there if you are tall and i'm talking like 5 11 and up if you are dating a guy that's shorter than you um do you like it for one did you always well excuse me were you always interested in short guys or did you just say like man eff it let me give me let me let me give it a chance so this lady approached me and talked about obviously me being single and she's like i'm telling her like i'm not looking for anybody right now i'm not gonna be looking for anybody for a while my goal is to focus on myself and she's like well what if i introduce you to someone else that's also just focusing on themselves and she's beautiful and you guys can just focus on yourselves but do it together i'm like okay sounds interesting she's like she's beautiful i'm like check she's like she a vp at gm i'm like okay that's cool she's like do you like tall women i'm like i'll climb a tree and i've been with tall women before but in my mind was like climbing a tree stop yeah but my mindset is not so much if i like tall women but if that tall women would like to date a guy that's shorter than her and i've never had that conversation before and i would love to find out if that's a thing because i feel like for short guys or shorter guys we don't really care if the woman is taller than us for real as long as she's not tolerant like she got her patting on my head like i'm her little boy or something i think for uh for if you're a tall woman it must

02:47:00 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 3:

be sometimes hard to find guys that are your size uh because i think that there's probably more of a selection opening up but i could see where it'd be difficult where you'd feel self-conscious especially if you couldn't wear the heels that you want to wear for guys i always find it interesting like to me i think if i was like if i met a girl that was beautiful and she was like six foot four and that was taller than me i'd be like that's hot that's like damn you know what

02:47:26 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 2:

i mean six four a little too wild though and listen for me at least you taller than me so

02:47:30 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 3:

that might work for you but no what so you think that would be way crazy for me yeah that's like

02:47:34 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 2:

dating somebody in the wmba they cold but like that's a little six four you're telling me that

02:47:38 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 3:

you would turn down that hot girl from chicago that chicago what's her name reese ain't really that code for me, though.

02:47:43 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 2:

I'd smash her, but we're not trying to do all of that. She's a beautiful young lady, though.

02:47:47 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to take it easy right now, but I'd smash her. 6'4", that's a little too aggressive. KP, you're a taller woman here. Do you have a hard time finding guys that are of size?

02:47:59 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I do. KP, how tall are you? I wouldn't consider KP tall. I'm 5'8", and I feel like I look taller, but I'm pretty average height for a female. You got a long neck. That's what it is. Oh, that's great. Are you comparing me to your graph? No, I'm just looking at your neck. I think 5'8 is tall for a girl, but not like too tall. Like when I hear 6'2, I think that's tall for a girl. Oh, she's got a long neck. Six feet or above two knees. Anybody taller than me is tall.

02:48:27 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 4:

She's about to punch you in the neck. Necklaces look great on you.

02:48:32 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That is so funny. That is so good.

02:48:38 - 02:48:40 | Speaker 2:

That'd be like 5'11 and up.

02:48:40 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 3:

All right. Mojo in the morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Let me go to Fred here. What up, Fred? Hi.

02:48:50 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, everybody? It's the original Fred from Detroit. What's up, Fred? What's up, Fred? But, yeah, Kev, those tall women, this is on the bottom. You got those legs and all that. I haven't yet got to get to a real Amazonian, you know, the ones that's like six feet and over. But I'm waiting on what to do.

02:49:10 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 1:

She wear like an arrow on the back of her vest, Amazonian.

02:49:14 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 4:

Now, Fred, how tall are you? That's what we call big women. Amazonian, my love.

02:49:19 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 1:

You said Amazonian like the store.

02:49:21 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 3:

It's brought to you by Jeff Bezos.

02:49:25 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 4:

Hence the smile arrow reference.

02:49:31 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 2:

Now, how tall are you, Fred?

02:49:34 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm 5'8 on a good day.

02:49:36 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 2:

With the Tims on.

02:49:40 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm wearing Tim's, man, with the Ugg boots on. You know, I'm 5'8 with the Ugg boots on. Are you wearing the platform Uggs, though? Is it really 5'5"? No, the brute one. I love you.

02:49:54 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Fred. Thank you, original Fred. By the way, I need...

02:50:00 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 4:

I need a song for this whole thing. I need to have my song here. Even though it's not talking about this, is it?

02:50:10 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 8:

No. It does have a curse in it if you're playing it off your phone.

02:50:14 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Yes.

02:50:15 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 2:

Don't want no short, short, man.

02:50:17 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

02:50:18 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you said it. Don't want no short, short, man. I hope so. What's up? Don't want no short, short, man.

02:50:25 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Andrea? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Andrea doesn't mind short guys, right?

02:50:33 - 02:50:37 | Speaker 7:

No, my husband is 5'3", and I'm 6'0". Wow, look at you.

02:50:38 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 9:

Do you ever give him a piggyback ride?

02:50:40 - 02:50:41 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:50:41 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 9:

No, no, no.

02:50:42 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 4:

When you guys take pictures, does he ever, like, ask you to sit? Or what does he do?

02:50:48 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 7:

No, no, I just stand, and he always says that I'm the perfect height for a pillow.

02:50:54 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 4:

For a pillow. I thought you were going to say something else. So, Andrea, was it awkward, though, like when you guys were standing at the altar, you know, like trying to trying to look into each other's eyes?

02:51:11 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, a little bit. But I mean, we got used to it and I got used to it before we got married. So, I mean, it's normal now. I don't think of it anymore.

02:51:19 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 4:

Was it tough dating at first, though? Or was it tough dating for you, period? Was it tough to date guys? Because six foot is definitely a tall woman.

02:51:25 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 7:

yeah it was a tough tough a little bit but i just stopped looking at height because yeah it just was too hard to find somebody that was close to my height i feel like height is

02:51:39 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 8:

on the list of things that matter the stupidest thing to care about when it comes to a partner

02:51:44 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 4:

yeah what would be the more important uh the height of them or they're a good guy oh good

02:51:53 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 8:

person it's wild to me that you could like literally find your perfect match and then just be like you're the wrong height i don't want to be happy for my life that to me is so wild that

02:52:02 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 4:

people care this much i as a guy would look for a tall woman because your kids get tall you get the height comes from the height comes from the mom what's up britney how you doing

02:52:12 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 6:

good morning everyone what's going on good morning so i am six foot if you ask me in person though i will tell you i'm 5 11 and a half i will not say i'm six foot but i will say as a tall woman i maybe it's just where i'm looking or what finds me but i can never find a man that is taller than me so usually any of the guys that i've dated have always either been my height or like a little bit shorter but listen if the guy's okay with it i'm okay with it you can climb the tree all day oh

02:52:46 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, look at that. What are advantages to having a guy be shorter than you? Are there any of them?

02:52:53 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I don't know that I would say.

02:52:55 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 4:

I mean, they can kind of fit in lower areas. Like, they can get, you know, they can pick things up off the ground faster.

02:53:02 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 6:

For sure. They can squeeze into smaller places. If I need to reach something that's up higher, I can get, you know what I mean?

02:53:09 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you can let them drive, and you can sit behind them in the car, and you don't have issues with your leg room. I always love that. Listen, I'm a taller guy with a shorter woman, and I love it. People always look at us like we're like, what is that all about? They think we're an exclamation point whenever we're hanging out with each other.

02:53:26 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 3:

You know what's interesting? A lot of people, well, I ain't going to say a lot of people. I've heard the conversation that that's the reason why there aren't enough tall guys for tall women. Because tall guys always go for short women. That is true. Yeah.

02:53:41 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 1:

But I actually disagree with that now. I used to think that that's how it was, but I feel like tall guys like being with tall girls because they want the genes, the genetics.

02:53:50 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 8:

I'm 5'4", and I dated a 6'6", guy. That was, it's actually harder than you think.

02:53:56 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 9:

It's nice to be married to somebody who is a little bit more so, well, a lot of it, more so on the shorter side because in, like, situations of going to a wedding, for example. You can look it through each other's eyes. Oh, my God, my neck starts to hurt because my, yeah. Truly, truly.

02:54:10 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 4:

When you're laying next to each other in bed, Megan, next to a guy that's six foot six yeah do you have to like scoot up in the bed or to kiss him

02:54:17 - 02:54:27 | Speaker 8:

or what are you truly and i don't think people realize one of us was always in pain either my neck was completely like you're laying down up or he was bent over like see that we're all the

02:54:27 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 4:

same height kp just said when she's when we're laying down no you're not when you're dick when

02:54:31 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 2:

you're uh wait what'd you say you can't say talk about his dick what's going on gary how you doing

02:54:40 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I'm five foot, my wife is six foot, and in the middle of staying in our nuptials, the pastor stopped the service, dropped down a step stool, so we were at the exact same place. No.

02:54:55 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

That's funny. Did he tell you he was going to do that, or he just came out the blue with it?

02:55:00 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 6:

He came out of the blue with it. Wow. He just stopped it. Great passer. Had a great time. It was fun.

02:55:08 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. By the way, I love a guy that has a sense of humor. And you know what? That's great that you don't take it too seriously because there's nothing worse than a guy with a Napoleon complex. You know?

02:55:19 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 6:

Definitely not me. You were talking earlier about benefits of being a sh** guy. Yeah. I'm the perfect armrest for my wife.

02:55:27 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 3:

That is true. That is great. Man, I love you, Gary. Take care of yourself.

02:55:32 - 02:55:33 | Speaker 6:

Love you, too. Bye, Mojo.

02:55:33 - 02:55:37 | Speaker 3:

Bye. Take care. Sarah wants to talk to you, Kevin, though, about dating this girl. What's going on, Sarah?

02:55:38 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just want to let Kevin know that tall women are a whole package deal, so you're not going to find a tall woman without really big feet.

02:55:46 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh. We not trying to do that. That's kind of...

02:55:48 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 3:

Are you into feet? No, no.

02:55:50 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm 5'10", and I wear a size 11.

02:55:53 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. You guys could share shoes, Kevin. You guys could share Uggs. You could go get those Uggs that you've been trying to get.

02:55:59 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 4:

I hope she don't have big feet Is that real? If they're tall, they've got to have big feet Usually, yes You're not going to be six foot or a size six foot You'd flop over I didn't even think about that

02:56:11 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you, I appreciate you, Sarah Take care of yourself

02:56:15 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 4:

But how good is excitement?

02:56:21 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 3:

Don't want no short, short, Kev Don't want no short, short, Kev

02:56:27 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 6:

Alright When you argue with idiots, people can't tell who the idiot is. We fail to understand that on this show.

02:56:35 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:56:37 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to ask this question. I met a listener of ours that told me that, and I don't know if I should say what it was that they said. you guys tell me if you think because I told you guys off the air they told me that they were on the show with us this week and they said something that was not real flattering of their significant other and when they told us this on the air they thought that their significant other would not know it was them now their boyfriend slash fiance or hopefully heard at them on the radio and now they're actually going through a breakup because of our show so they called our show to tell us something and now our show got them in trouble and their relationship is in a little bit of turmoil and i was like hey can i call and like talk to them like i usually am pretty good at trying to talk people off the ledge a little bit of hey you know what come on you know she was just meaning it in good faith you know and all this stuff and she's like no it's not good it's not even in a point now where that she could even think that i would even come across funny or or come across as sincere he's like really pissed and it brought me up like thinking i wonder how many people outside of war of the roses like the two that you know we make the phone calls with have gotten in trouble because of the show So how has our show gotten you in trouble? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And it could be War of the Roses. Maybe you made a comment on the air about a War of the Roses, and you heard back from a person that was upset with you for making that comment. And we as a show get in trouble all the time.

02:58:35 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. With our friends and family and significant others.

02:58:40 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 3:

Do you know how many times I have said something about the boys or said something about Chelsea? Chelsea and I talked one time on the We Don't podcast about this, about I cross the line and say things sometimes just thinking that, oh, you know what? We talk about everything, but there's certain things you shouldn't talk about on the air. And I'll never forget when I came in on the air one time and talked about how Chelsea, quote unquote, wet the bed. I remember this and she was pregnant at the time and she was really pissed off at me for for saying that she didn't wet the bed I had said that on the air and she was like that was the most hurtful thing ever it was a bad situation yeah but I told a story about and I don't even want

02:59:26 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 2:

to say it because I the damage was already done but I told a story about a family member having plastic surgery and they did not want that information to be made public even though

02:59:36 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 1:

it was very very obvious what they had done if you looked at them but i got in a ton of trouble

02:59:44 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 3:

for that yeah um how has this show gotten you in trouble 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number what do i got here is this hannah yeah it is good morning everyone Good morning, Hannah.

03:00:00 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What's going on?

03:00:03 - 03:00:27 | Speaker 5:

So I remember one time you had a topic about if your friends should tell you they don't like your man. And I said no because I had an ex-best friend who did that. And I went on the radio and told you guys about it and how, like, it was a friendship breakup. And one of our mutual friends heard it, told her about it. And then she sends me a bunch of clown emojis telling me how stupid it was to go and lie on the radio when I didn't lie.

03:00:28 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Now you're going to be in trouble For the fact that you brought this back up again

03:00:33 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 5:

And the funny thing is She had to apologize Like months after Oh she did So did she listen to our show

03:00:44 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 1:

Or did you not know that she listened to our show

03:00:46 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 5:

I know a friend Who listens to the show And I think they still talk That's my theory

03:00:52 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 1:

That bothers me when somebody else Hears it and then tells them Like that happens a lot.

03:00:59 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 2:

It happens so much with people that are a part of my life. And then it's like a game of telephone. And by the time they hear it, it's so wrong from what was actually said that I have to say to them, did you actually hear it? If you did not, if it was not your ears listening to it, please go back and listen to the podcast. Because that is not at all the context or what was said or how it was said.

03:01:21 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea used to have a friend that would constantly call her. and then she wouldn't do it to try to be purposely but it came across that way she'll go i can't believe he said that this morning and chelsea be like what do you say i heard some of the show and then they would tell her and it would be in such a different fashion that you're like what the f susan what's up it's mojo in the morning hey guys how are you we're good we're like we're not good if we're not i felt bad for this person that listened to the show and was you know is a big listener and now is in trouble and i'm hopefully their relationship doesn't stop me

03:01:54 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 6:

in big trouble what did we do okay so a while ago when the joe louis arena shut down i won actual seats from you guys i came and picked them up i was married my ex-husband and i are big huge uh avid red wing fans and so i gave them to him for his collection and then when we got divorced i took them from him he's never let me live it down he's never let me live it down well don't

03:02:16 - 03:02:23 | Speaker 1:

blame that on us that's all you yeah that's funny by the way I like that what's up Julie

03:02:23 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 4:

hey mojo what's up guys what's going on Julie so you guys are talking about something fun to go do as a group right yeah why don't you guys host like a a music bingo night now for instance I work with on the side a company called down river music bingo they are well known in bars what is music this sounds so fun what is that it is so much fun i've been doing it with them for about a year they've been in business for about two years they go to bars they host these events they play three rounds of music bingo where they play 35 seconds of a song in a selected category and you just mark it like a bingo sheet and if you win bingo you yell bingo and win money off your bill at

03:03:10 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 1:

restaurant oh wow i never heard of this before at first i thought oh this is gonna be boring

03:03:16 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 3:

but that sounds fun you're from down river yes yes i host at malley's on tuesday oh my god that's like my dad's yeah that's one of my dad's favorite places so much fun right and they do it at malley's

03:03:28 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 4:

three nights a week okay in um first parlor and wine dot they're at drink saloon in um brownstown They're in all over. Like, a lot of Wyandotte bars they're at. Gizmo's, the Martini Bar. Oh, yeah. They are so many places, and it is so much fun. All right. Like, music from all different genres. Like, my favorite, 80s hip-hop.

03:03:51 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 1:

Ah, I love it. I love that.

03:03:54 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 4:

We do 80s hair bands. We do rock and roll hits, movies.

03:03:58 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 1:

Do they do 90s and 2000s, too, or is it all old?

03:04:02 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

03:04:02 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here's the deal. Talk to Lydia and give Lydia more details, okay?

03:04:06 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 4:

I surely will.

03:04:07 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thank you for that. What's up, Ava? Hi.

03:04:11 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 4:

Hi. How are you guys?

03:04:12 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Good. We're getting back to the topic right now. The topic of how did the show hurt your relationship or screw something up for you, get you in trouble?

03:04:21 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 7:

It didn't hurt me. I'm the one that hurt somebody.

03:04:25 - 03:04:26 | Speaker 1:

What happened?

03:04:26 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 7:

And I think they deserved it at that point.

03:04:28 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Okay.

03:04:30 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 7:

Seven years ago, I called you guys. I think around seven years ago. So, and you had a topic about, I forgot what it was, but, so I went into a brand name store to buy a purse, and I was a college student at the time, and I wasn't really very well dressed, but I had the money, so the, so the associate at that store looks at me, and she literally said, can you even afford this product?

03:04:59 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Wait.

03:05:00 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 1:

That's rude.

03:05:01 - 03:05:13 | Speaker 4:

And I told you guys the story on the show, and apparently the store manager was listening that morning, and I hadn't said the name of the mall also.

03:05:13 - 03:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

03:05:14 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 4:

I won't do that again.

03:05:16 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 2:

But why? Why do you care, though? They said something very rude to you.

03:05:20 - 03:05:31 | Speaker 4:

Yes, exactly. Anyways, so apparently the store manager heard it, and he went into the store, asked around who was the one that made that remark, and fired that person.

03:05:31 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, somebody got, so they got fired because of your comment. Did you feel bad about them getting fired, or did you feel like it was their just desserts?

03:05:40 - 03:05:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, I feel bad because they were fired, but they deserved it.

03:05:43 - 03:05:48 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Yes, exactly. All right, we'll see that. You're a hero, Ava.

03:05:48 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 3:

F around fond of.

03:05:49 - 03:06:02 | Speaker 2:

You're the Robin Hood of the Somerset collection, or whatever mall it was. I don't know what mall it was. It was Somerset. I knew it. I knew it had to be. All right. Wait, what store? All right. I want to know. Yeah, hold on. What store was it?

03:06:03 - 03:06:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

03:06:04 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Gucci Gucci? Do I really need it? You don't work anymore. Louis Vuitton? What was it?

03:06:09 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 4:

No, no. It's just this store.

03:06:12 - 03:06:14 | Speaker 2:

It was Coach? Where was it? What was it?

03:06:15 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 4:

It was Nordstrom.

03:06:16 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. Well, thank you, Ava. We love you.

03:06:22 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 1:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

03:06:25 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Mojo in the morning show. There is something that Wes completely dumbfounded Shannon with that every guy will understand where Wes is coming from.

03:06:37 - 03:07:33 | Speaker 1:

So that makes me feel better that you say that because that was my question to you guys this morning is, is this true? Is this a thing? so my my bathroom is like in my bedroom so if Wes is like we don't we don't leave the door open if we're like pooping but if we're peeing that's fair game and so he had the door open I was getting into bed and he was peeing and I heard him I swear I heard him go yes and I was like who are you talking to and he said he was excited because he had a strong stream and i was like that i don't understand and he's like if you have a strong like pee stream that's like a really really good thing and he's like he's like guys like this is a thing with guys i'm like i had no idea i don't know that i pat myself on the back if i

03:07:33 - 03:07:39 | Speaker 3:

have a strong peep and then taking a step further it's competitive okay he said that too he goes

03:07:39 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 1:

He's like, guys, talk about this, and if you're with another guy and you're peeing and a stream is stronger, that is very much a competition. I'll push harder.

03:07:48 - 03:07:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what? Two things. You got to be careful, though. That's not good. Two things. Not only does the stream have to be strong, but I have to pee for longer than you also.

03:07:55 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. Really? Yeah.

03:07:57 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 3:

So in those moments, I'll kind of take my foot off the gas a little bit. That's what he said.

03:08:02 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 1:

He's like, you don't want low pressure if there are other guys around.

03:08:04 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 3:

You got to make sure you're done coming out like Hulk.

03:08:07 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, we all know how we judge a good shower based on water pressure, right?

03:08:16 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Right.

03:08:16 - 03:08:33 | Speaker 2:

That's what it is for a guy. You judge basically everything based on, and there's nothing worse than when you go to a urinal, especially in a men's room that has a bunch of them, like a Ford Field or Little Caesars Arena, and you go, and you got stage fright. And then you got a soft stream.

03:08:33 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 3:

You got a little spitter.

03:08:34 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 2:

Because every guy behind you that's been standing in that long line is going, look at that guy with the soft straw. You know what I mean?

03:08:40 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 1:

I truly, I'm about to be 42 years old. This is new information to me.

03:08:46 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Any guys want to call up and talk about their stream? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

03:08:52 - 03:09:00 | Speaker 3:

It's one of those. If I have a not-so-good stream, I'll put my head down and walk away from the urinal in shame and just be like, we'll get them next time.

03:09:01 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to think if girls have anything like this that we're competitive about in the bathroom. Yeah, you're poops. No, we're not competitive. Like, I, I, it's, it's like I compete with myself if I have a good poop. And I'm like, ooh, that came out of me.

03:09:16 - 03:09:19 | Speaker 2:

I have friends that don't look back to see what it looks like.

03:09:19 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 1:

You are a liar. And I'm not saying you. I'm saying if you say you don't, you're a liar. How do you, how do you even check your toilet paper to make sure you don't need another wipe?

03:09:26 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 2:

You should, for even health reasons, check back. You should make sure that you're looking. See if you want to blow it in the stool? Yeah. You want to make sure, well, that or discoloration sometimes. What's discoloration? What do you mean? Sometimes you get the albino poop. Have you ever had the albino poop?

03:09:44 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 3:

A ghost poop? No.

03:09:45 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 1:

No. That's not a ghost poop. No, an albino poop. A ghost poop is, you don't need to wipe more than that.

03:09:48 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:09:49 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 1:

It's like a clean poop.

03:09:49 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Or the vitiligo poop. I've had a vitiligo poop before. Yeah. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hello. Hey, good morning. How are you doing? We're doing fantastic.

03:10:00 - 03:10:02 | Speaker 5:

How are you? Would you like to tell us about your stream?

03:10:04 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. First of all, I don't know what neighborhood he's from, but that is not a thing from where I grew up. Wait. What? Oh, no. You don't worry about your stream? No. No. First of all, why are you comparing? I mean, that's just too close for comfort for me.

03:10:19 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 5:

But you understand, though, that it's good to have a strong stream. If you have a soft stream or like a sputtering stream, you've got to fix the hose.

03:10:31 - 03:10:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, a little trickle. Yeah, yeah. My dad, when he was 70, worried about it.

03:10:37 - 03:10:38 | Speaker 5:

How old are you?

03:10:40 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 6:

59.

03:10:41 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, once you get over the age of 50 and you're peeing as much as you're peeing, you worry about your stream. You want to make sure you get everything out of there so you don't have to go. Because Chelsea will say to me, sometimes I'll go to the bathroom and then I'll come back to bed I'll go, oh, crap, I didn't get it all out, and I have to go back again, and she thinks I'm not going in there to go pee. You know what I mean?

03:10:59 - 03:11:04 | Speaker 6:

Well, thank God. Thank God it ain't got to that point yet, but it's not a thing from where I'm from. Where are you from?

03:11:04 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, where are you from?

03:11:06 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 6:

I'm from Yak Town.

03:11:08 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 5:

All right, well, listen, I'm going to tell you this. Yak Town still concerns themselves with it. You may be the only one there that doesn't. What's up? What's up, Bobby?

03:11:18 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how you doing?

03:11:19 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? Where are you calling from, Bobby?

03:11:21 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm out in Washington, Michigan. How are you doing today?

03:11:24 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 5:

Hey, we worry about our streams in Washington, Michigan, right? Yes.

03:11:28 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 6:

Hell, yeah, we do. How about those streams when you've been drinking and you've got to, like, throw your ass back? Boy, boy. I'm telling you. Wait, what? What do you mean? You can binge watch a whole show after that. And you've got to be careful at, like, a sporting event or something like that. You don't want to make it so obvious, but you're just like, oh, oh, oh. Oh, great. Did he swear? I think so.

03:11:48 - 03:12:03 | Speaker 5:

I thought he didn't say the K. I don't think he said the K. I think he said vuh and didn't say the K. All right. All right. Well, listen, we appreciate you, buddy, in Washington Township. Appreciate you guys listening out there. What's up, Brandon? How you doing?

03:12:04 - 03:12:19 | Speaker 4:

Yo, I got the strongest stream in the world, man. I tell you, I almost farted one time I pushed so hard. My friend here doesn't believe me. He says it's not a thing, and I'm trying to tell him it's a thing.

03:12:19 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 5:

Wait, who's there saying it's not a thing?

03:12:22 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 4:

My friend Donald, he don't think it's a thing, and I'm telling him what it is. I almost pooped my pants.

03:12:29 - 03:12:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait, where's Donald then? Donald, get on the phone.

03:12:33 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm right here, man. Look, I don't know about you, but if I'm in a stall or in my urinal, and I'm hearing a guy stream next to me, and I'm thinking in my head, I've got to stream harder than him.

03:12:44 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. That's so funny.

03:12:47 - 03:12:58 | Speaker 5:

it's competitiveness man you got to make sure that you're you're uh better it makes you feel like you're healthier what's up shy how you doing hey how are you good what do you think of all this

03:12:58 - 03:13:18 | Speaker 2:

stuff well comment on the other guy passing gas when he um well my husband he has a strong stream as well and i don't know what's the thing because he won't let me be in there if he pees because he passes gas as well and then our 11 year old son he has the same thing where he's in sixth grade now last year he said they heard him peeing and they were making fun of him so now he refuses to

03:13:18 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 5:

go to the bathroom oh man you know what all those kids are jerks i'm going to tell you later in life those kids are going to have problems with their prostates i guarantee you stream shaming should not be a thing yeah matter of fact you should be called a bully in school and have to serve a detention if you're stream uh shaming what's up rosie hey how are you good what's going on we're just checking all the guys streams today how's your guy stream well i wanted to make a

03:13:44 - 03:13:46 | Speaker 3:

comment about mine. Yeah. Okay, Rosie.

03:13:47 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 2:

Rosie, why?

03:13:48 - 03:13:53 | Speaker 3:

A girl got a strong stream. I could pee in a Gatorade bottle. Okay, Rosie. I need to take a pee-pee.

03:13:53 - 03:14:00 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that's amazing. Rosie got, like, one of them shower heads. You're my kind of girl. You're turning me on, Rosie. That's amazing.

03:14:00 - 03:14:05 | Speaker 3:

I didn't have a cup, and I was in the car, so that was the next best thing instead of my clothes.

03:14:05 - 03:14:06 | Speaker 5:

What town are you from?

03:14:07 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 3:

Detroit.

03:14:08 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 5:

I love it. East side, definitely, right?

03:14:11 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Nope, southwest. Oh, okay.

03:14:13 - 03:14:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. There you go. All right. That's my girl. So you got any Latin in you?

03:14:19 - 03:14:20 | Speaker 3:

A little bit, yep.

03:14:20 - 03:14:28 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, see that? That's what happens. I'm telling you. That's what happens. You can get a Gatorade bottle going there. What's going on, Bill? Hi.

03:14:30 - 03:14:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how you doing? Good, Bill. What's up? I could write my full name in the snow. Wait, Larry, what is your full name?

03:14:40 - 03:14:40 | Speaker 6:

This is insanity.

03:14:41 - 03:14:43 | Speaker 4:

Like William? Bill Allen. Bill Allen.

03:14:43 - 03:14:47 | Speaker 6:

First and last. Oh, my God.

03:14:48 - 03:14:50 | Speaker 5:

Bill Allen. That's amazing.

03:14:50 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 6:

No William, no. Oh, my God. If I find Wes in the backyard writing Wes, we will have him in the snow today. This dang topic.

03:14:58 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

03:15:00 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's funny that you say that because Misfit Victor is on the phone with us right now. And Misfit Victor can write Misfit Victor in the snow. I've seen it.

03:15:10 - 03:15:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, it's funny you brought this topic up. I just found an Instagram page that I just texted to you, Mojo. It's called Long Distance Peeing, but not the word peeing. It's whatever. But people post videos on there all day, like where they'll be standing on their sink in the bathroom, like aiming into the toilet.

03:15:32 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. This is great. Oh, my God.

03:15:35 - 03:15:37 | Speaker 3:

It's unbelievable. It's one of the best pages I've ever followed.

03:15:37 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. I'm sending it to all you guys so we can send this to Wes, Shannon. This is fantastic. Wait. Have you ever done that before, Bill? Have you ever done a long-distance pee where you stand like five or six feet back from the urinal and pee into it?

03:15:53 - 03:15:59 | Speaker 3:

Where's Bill at right now?

03:15:59 - 03:16:28 | Speaker 4:

What are you doing, Bill? We in his pocket. No, I think we lost Bill. Oh, my God. This is the greatest. Look at these guys long-distance streaming. I don't want to. Seriously. No, no, check it out. Look how far you are. Are you seeing private parts? No, you're right there. Oh, my goodness. Victor, we're doing this for the free throw line.

03:16:28 - 03:16:32 | Speaker 3:

There are 53,000 followers to this account.

03:16:32 - 03:16:39 | Speaker 4:

Forget the turkey shoot. We're doing long-distance streaming for a contest. Thanks, Victor, for sending that. I appreciate it.

03:16:40 - 03:16:42 | Speaker 3:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:16:42 - 03:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Not getting a call back after you went out on a date. We do second date update right here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, Mondays and Wednesdays at 820. Lena is with us right now. And Lena, how did you guys meet? Hi.

03:16:59 - 03:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Yeah, we met on Facebook dating.

03:17:02 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And you guys liked each other.

03:17:06 - 03:17:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I thought it actually went really well. I really liked him.

03:17:11 - 03:17:29 | Speaker 4:

And now, not hearing back. Yeah. What are your thoughts? What do you think? Do you think that he's just got scared Do you think he's got somebody else in his life What could possibly be the reason why he's not And what was the last time That you talked to him Hey we're going to go on another date

03:17:29 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 1:

I mean Yeah we talked Probably close to a week ago But I haven't heard from him He's not replying to messages anymore

03:17:39 - 03:17:50 | Speaker 4:

Well that's the stuff that gets Kind of scary doesn't it Yeah And the last time that you guys talked It was good You guys didn't get into a fight or anything

03:17:50 - 03:18:00 | Speaker 1:

No I thought like It all just seemed really positive And I felt really good about it It felt like happy I don't know

03:18:00 - 03:18:09 | Speaker 4:

He was good with going on with us So we were able to get a hold of him He talked to us and he's on the phone with us right now Shane is his name Shane are you okay with your voice on the radio

03:18:09 - 03:18:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes I am

03:18:11 - 03:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Shane will you say hello to Lena

03:18:13 - 03:18:16 | Speaker 2:

hello

03:18:16 - 03:18:17 | Speaker 1:

hi

03:18:17 - 03:18:23 | Speaker 2:

so uh yeah we're doing the radio thing

03:18:23 - 03:18:48 | Speaker 4:

so Shane I uh I wanted to kind of hear what the interaction was between the two of you guys because that always kind of gives me a little tip of what's going on I have no idea what the story might be because I just saw a picture of Lena I'm like wow she's beautiful and you guys look like a cute couple we just pulled you up on Instagram and you're actually a good looking guy And I mean, tell us, were you guys having fun with each other?

03:18:51 - 03:18:55 | Speaker 2:

Kind of. It's just, you know, we don't have the same hobbies. That's kind of what it boils down to.

03:18:55 - 03:18:56 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean by hobbies?

03:18:58 - 03:19:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, the whole time we were hanging out, it was all Disney. Whenever it was not my chance to talk, it was just Disney. and then I would try to bring up a new subject and then it was right back to Disney.

03:19:14 - 03:19:15 | Speaker 4:

Disney? What do you mean by Disney?

03:19:15 - 03:19:19 | Speaker 2:

I love Disney, Lena. Yeah, she just got back from a trip.

03:19:20 - 03:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Cool. So she was talking about her trip and overly talking about her trip or talking about Disney?

03:19:29 - 03:19:42 | Speaker 2:

Both trip to Disney and her upcoming trip to Disney and I'm just not, you know, I'm not really someone who's going to be doing trips to Disney. Especially not like 10 times a year.

03:19:43 - 03:19:48 | Speaker 4:

So, Lena, you go to Disney a lot or is this just a coincidence?

03:19:49 - 03:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, I've been a lot. Like it's just, it's my favorite place in the whole world to be.

03:19:55 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 4:

So you're a Disney person. So you love Disney. Like my son is a Disney guy. Oh gosh, yeah.

03:20:00 - 03:20:11 | Speaker 3:

Joe from The Joe Show loves Disney. I get it, though. I went there for the first time this year ever. My very first time. And I get it. I get why people get excited about it. I'm going back for our anniversary.

03:20:12 - 03:20:18 | Speaker 10:

So, Shane, is that just a turnoff to you? Or, like, obviously it's a turnoff to you.

03:20:18 - 03:20:21 | Speaker 2:

I think Disney adults are weird. Disney adults are weird.

03:20:21 - 03:20:28 | Speaker 5:

Do you think anybody with a hobby or, like, an interest is weird or just Disney? Great question.

03:20:28 - 03:20:34 | Speaker 2:

it uh no i think hobbies are great it's just if you're at disney i just think you're either there

03:20:34 - 03:21:09 | Speaker 3:

with your family or you're there with your family i mean she didn't show with with many ears on i mean she just had a great time and wanted to talk about it right yeah i just think this is a whole new world for you how often how often was this coming up in conversation that's all we talked about really lena are you the type that uh like you do you wear a lot of disney stuff too like are you a disney sweatshirts you know tattoos yeah do you have any tattoos uh not yet no really

03:21:09 - 03:21:14 | Speaker 9:

but you would think about it huh i would think about it i mean there's some good ones i've seen

03:21:14 - 03:21:42 | Speaker 3:

good disney tattoos see i may be sexist in saying this but i think it's less weird that you are in love with disney and love this than it is like that my son is in to disney like i literally i think it's literally wearing a disney shirt right now um like i think like i i don't know i think a guy is like way into disney i think it's kind of i don't know it just seems goofy but i also feel

03:21:42 - 03:21:55 | Speaker 4:

like and maybe you can call me crazy whatever but i feel like it's mostly girls who are into disney So it's weird, but when guys are into Star Wars or Harry Potter world, it's not weird. And I don't like that.

03:21:55 - 03:22:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, I think that's weird, too. I think that's weird. I don't think that's weird. The Harry Potter world and Star Wars freaks and stuff like that. Freaks? What's weird about it? I think it's a little... It's like I'm doing magic on you. I don't know. It's just kind of a little... I don't know. The guy's dressing up and walking into a place with his wands. I don't know. Megan, no offense, but I...

03:22:16 - 03:22:31 | Speaker 10:

It doesn't sound like she's that to me No Like I think there's a difference between Loving Disney and having a passion about it And like Kev said If she was showing up wearing like you know Disney mini ears Like okay

03:22:31 - 03:22:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay but she spent the entire day talking about Disney That's not fun

03:22:35 - 03:22:43 | Speaker 10:

I feel like everybody Like when you just get back from a vacation Or when something big just happens to you That's top of mind

03:22:43 - 03:22:49 | Speaker 1:

It's also what kids do when they come back from a vacation It's all they talk about You want a real relationship

03:22:49 - 03:22:52 | Speaker 10:

I doubt that that's all you guys talked about

03:22:52 - 03:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Stacey, what's up? What did you want to say?

03:22:55 - 03:23:22 | Speaker 6:

Okay, my thing is Does he have a hobby? Is he one of the guys that's obsessed With football or sports Or video gaming? I think it's really unfair For this man To say that he's weirded out That she has a love for Disney But I bet you anything, if he has a love for video games or a love for sports and wanted to talk about that, she wouldn't think he's weird.

03:23:22 - 03:23:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a good point. You're talking guys who talk a lot of sports. Maybe it doesn't seem weird to you, but it could be weird to somebody else. What's up, Whitney?

03:23:30 - 03:23:58 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I just wanted to tell her this should have been her sign, like, good riddance to the Grinch. Like, it's just not that serious. is like i mean i feel like if they're getting to know each other if she just came from the trip i mean maybe she was just excited about the trip maybe it's something to get to know like my boyfriend's really into star wars and i'm completely opposite i'm like a bad girl club type of chick yeah and like we find the time to like i have to sit through the shows no matter

03:23:58 - 03:24:06 | Speaker 1:

what because i love him the grinch is actually universal studios um i feel like if you like her

03:24:06 - 03:24:07 | Speaker 9:

and get to know her still.

03:24:07 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 1:

That's just one little thing.

03:24:08 - 03:24:09 | Speaker 9:

He sounds like a Grinch.

03:24:09 - 03:24:13 | Speaker 10:

We are so 50-50 divided on this one, by the way, with callers and texts.

03:24:14 - 03:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yes. Let's get some people that agree with him. What's up, Amanda?

03:24:18 - 03:24:37 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo. I think I agree with the guy. I think Disney people are weird, but he should be happy that, you know, he found out early because sometimes they suck you into it and then you're stuck. And then you're stuck. And you're on your fourth trip in freaking Orlando You know, and you just hate the guy at that point, you know?

03:24:37 - 03:24:47 | Speaker 3:

That sounds personal. By the way, yeah, it sounds like she's been through this. Thank you for the call. Hannah, what's up? You also think that Disney adults are weird.

03:24:48 - 03:25:11 | Speaker 8:

I think Disney adults are very odd. I took my kids, and I'm sitting in line to meet Cinderella, and I have a girl in front of me that's probably mid-30s shaking. excited to meet Cinderella, and I'm thinking in my head, this lady knows this is really not Cinderella. Yes! Don't ruin the magic. Don't ruin the magic. For a second, that is weird. That is weird.

03:25:11 - 03:25:33 | Speaker 5:

One rebuttal to that. We all know how expensive and hard it is to go to Disney or take your family to Disney, and I think a lot of kids growing up, we grew up, like us 90s kids, we were raised on Disney and Disney Channel, and And sometimes the first time you get to go is as an adult. It can be exciting to have those adults.

03:25:33 - 03:25:37 | Speaker 8:

Megan, my daughter was six years old looking at this lady like she was a weirdo.

03:25:38 - 03:25:47 | Speaker 2:

I want to teach your daughter not to be so judgmental. Jasmine. You have the money that you spend to go to Disney on therapy for unresolved trauma. That is so mean.

03:25:47 - 03:25:47 | Speaker 7:

Too much.

03:25:48 - 03:25:49 | Speaker 9:

Jasmine, what do you want to say, Jasmine?

03:25:51 - 03:26:04 | Speaker 7:

I just wanted to say that I just went to Disney, too. I have two sets of twins. I took all of them and me and my whole family. I loved Disney growing up, but if somebody wanted to talk about Disney the whole day, I would have been annoyed to tell, too. Yeah. Like, talk about something else.

03:26:05 - 03:26:06 | Speaker 9:

You need to have balance.

03:26:06 - 03:26:13 | Speaker 7:

I don't. Yeah. Like, that's not, and it's okay for him. That could be his opinion. Like, there's nothing wrong with that.

03:26:13 - 03:26:35 | Speaker 9:

Well, and I actually don't think it's bad for him to have that as an opinion, too, and I think it's good to catch it early on, but I also think that, you know, any guy that talks about the lions or whoever a lot you have to understand that there may be some people that may not want to for me yeah i can't win emily what's up yeah okay so no matter

03:26:35 - 03:26:52 | Speaker 8:

what if you're on a date with somebody and you're talking about a topic too much in general yes that's the problem ding ding ding but yep disney itself is it is that is so special and magical and Disney adults are not weird at all.

03:26:52 - 03:26:53 | Speaker 9:

Because you are one, right?

03:26:53 - 03:27:05 | Speaker 8:

I drank the Disney juice. I did not think that was going to happen to me. It's expensive juice. And especially since she just got back from her trip. So you should give her another chance if she wants to go out again.

03:27:05 - 03:27:16 | Speaker 9:

Hold on a second. I have to do something really quick. Hey, Shane, you just were on Mojo in the Morning second date update. Now what are you going to do?

03:27:16 - 03:27:20 | Speaker 8:

Not going to do

03:27:20 - 03:27:32 | Speaker 2:

He's going to ride Big Thunder Ten times If you know what I mean

03:27:32 - 03:27:46 | Speaker 9:

03:27:47 - 03:27:47 | Speaker 8:

Uh-huh.

03:27:47 - 03:27:59 | Speaker 9:

All right. So put it in your profile. Put the Disney in your profile, and then you can't get anybody that will make funny after that, okay? Disclaimer. Great. Disclaimer. Oh, my God. Wow.
