This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:00:53 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 3:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, But it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be that you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years, were kind of not out of the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

00:01:38 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 2:

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:02:37 - 00:03:23 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:23 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 7:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Nice to have you guys here today. Another snow emergency, cold emergency day with schools closed throughout our listening area. And check your school if you haven't already. I'm sure you already know. And if your school is not closed, feel free to shout out the principal or administrator that doesn't care about you. Welcome to the show. We've got a good one for you today. Five Lies Tell Your Mom, Second Date Update, all coming up today. Lots of good prizes. A trip to Florida. Chance to go to Fort Myers. Your chance coming up this morning, although not a good time to go anywhere in the country. It seems like everywhere. I think the only spot in the country that might be of warmer temperatures than normal is Alaska. I just saw that yesterday. Did you see that?

00:04:15 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:04:16 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Alaska was 10 degrees warmer yesterday than it normally is, Which, by the way, was still colder than it probably, you know, would be nice. But it's warm compared to what we experience here. So are you guys the type of people that have ever had the crap scared out of you? Like literally the crap scared out of you? Driving. Literally? Oh, yeah. Like literally. Like literally, Megan, crap scared out of you. Poopy right there. Not literally. No, no. Oh, literally happens when you're driving in and you slide and you don't think that you can actually pull it together, which I always forget. And I don't know if you guys.

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 3:

have ever done this at all just for the sake of seeing if you know if you're starting to see that your rear end is sliding to the right are you supposed to turn your wheels along with that

00:05:11 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 5:

you turn into your back end you turn i would have to think about that and by that time i'd already crashed if your back end's going to the right you turn to the right you go towards your back end why my brain is i'm very bad with spatial awareness i'm still not thinking about this right

00:05:29 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 4:

Front of the car, my fingertips, back of the car, my wrist. If your back end starts going to the right, you turn your wheel towards the way the back end is going.

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 3:

Towards it, okay.

00:05:39 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm glad I had that refresher today.

00:05:41 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

And pump your brakes, don't hold your brakes. That's the one. So you pump while your back end is moving. When it starts moving the other direction, let go. I'm positive.

00:05:50 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

With anti-lock brakes, are you sure?

00:05:52 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

Pump your brakes, do not hold them down.

00:05:54 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

okay because if i i've heard opposite with anti-lock brakes i've heard that uh the pumping part is not the uh is not sometimes not good well i think human nature you just slam on your brakes

00:06:09 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 4:

unfortunately that's what all of us would do and i'm so grateful when i and i don't know the rules in michigan because i actually think they're a little bit different when you guys get your temps versus your driver's license but in ohio you got your temps at 15 and a half and my and a half was in the wintertime first thing my dad did was he took me out to the boonies while it was snowing and he said slam on your brakes like let's learn how to get control of your vehicle and i'm so grateful because i was never afraid then to drive on bad roads we did oakland community college parking lot waterford is that the place to go yeah that was it and it was it was basically

00:06:43 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

drive it as fast as you want and then slam on it and it was like that was like always the coolest one the the funniest is the kid when i did that with joe jacob and luke luke was the one that was the craziest of it he was and then he's like screaming like driving the general lee or something it was i um i will tell you that uh i you never know in the situation like but you get so you get to a point where you you get scared because you don't know what's going on and your worry is that you're gonna end up banking into a side of the wall you know remember when i went

00:07:22 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 5:

into the tree in my neighborhood oh yeah and i i smashed my car so bad that they had to like there was no way out of my car like the way that the doors on both sides crunched in i couldn't get out my front doors or my back doors i had to have the police and fire department come and get me out of my car these are jaws and i still came into work afterwards people you know what i have in

00:07:44 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

my car my tahoe and i bought i have a glass breaking tool i do really i can like cut your seat belt i have that it does yeah i bought it on amazon so it's it's it's this little red thing and i keep it in my side compartment and it's if i because i live i live you know in west bloomfield There's like 8,000 lakes there.

00:08:05 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:08:05 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 3:

I drive Old Orchard Trail, which you go right by Orchard Lake, and there's no guardrails. There's nothing there. And I had a thought that if I slide into that lake, I'm a goner. It's over.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

That is a really smart idea.

00:08:19 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Man, they used to have those. I don't know if they still got them, but headrests. You used to be able to remove your headrests and the two poles that lock your headrests into the seat.

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:08:29 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Those are supposed to be used to break out the window in the event that

00:08:32 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 4:

you're locked in your car for some reason have you ever seen anybody test out all these theories

00:08:36 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

yeah almost none of them work i've seen that one kind of work on instagram and tiktok and stuff

00:08:41 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 3:

like that people use it i always loved that show myth busters when they would do something like that um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 here's a question for you question is when's the last time that you had the crap scared out of you to the point that you were like okay i can't believe

00:08:59 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 5:

this every day I can't believe I got the crap every day in my house isn't that just being a just a fun game that my husband likes to play when he does that when he every day yes and I'm why am I I startle so easily why I think that there's like some truly there's something wrong with me like it's a it's a thing yeah I've never I've never crapped myself but thank you never

00:09:25 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 3:

splat right there never no thomas what's going on thomas hi buddy how you doing man i'm doing great how you doing fantastic were we right or was

00:09:38 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

megan right on the uh pumping the brakes part listen i'm all i know is that what you want to do is you want to get in the empty parking lot and like throw on that e-brake and just do the fast and nefarious thing and just like slide all across that parking lot man the adrenaline rush is sick

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

This doesn't even feel like educational. This just feels like you're looking for a thrill.

00:10:06 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, definitely. No, if you're going to crap your pants, you're going to do it out of excitement and not out of fear.

00:10:13 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 3:

That is good. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Grab Lisa, because Lisa, I think, because Megan brought up the pump and the brakes thing. And I don't, you know, being in Detroit, you got to be careful what you say because these engineers will call you out. What's up, Lisa? How you doing?

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm good.

00:10:28 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 3:

How are you? Good. Do you pump the brakes or just press the brakes? I can't hear you. Did you leave?

00:10:37 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I think we lost her.

00:10:39 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 3:

We lost you? Are you there?

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

I hear her car, but I don't hear her.

00:10:45 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 3:

Can you imagine if she got into it right there? Like we just, we gave her her accident by just calling us up here on the show. I apologize. Melanie, what's going on, Melanie? How you doing? There's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Mel.

00:10:59 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 2:

hi good morning how are you good good morning good morning hi um so yeah um it was about four or five years ago i was heading out of toniac and i hit some black ice i did about 360 about three or four times and by the grace of god i ended up still going straight and then i made it to van dyke and i had the van next to me screaming at me hey hey and i rolled out my We are right off the bat today.

00:11:31 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 3:

That is crazy spit. That is the craziest spit I've ever seen. By the way, I've seen some of that stuff on 59, man. On Hall Road is like a nutcase road. People drive like maniacs.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm.

00:11:47 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Thank you. Well, listen, Melanie, be safe out there, okay?

00:11:52 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes, thank you. I'm headed to Battle Isle right now to take pictures of Detroit.

00:11:56 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that would be nice to see the sunrise.

00:12:00 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

That's the great thing when it's 20 degrees below zero.

00:12:02 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 4:

It should be the only one out there getting a shot.

00:12:05 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's fantastic.

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

That's when the stars are the brightest.

00:12:10 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 3:

When the stars are at night. Woman dies of hypothermia on Belle Isle.

00:12:15 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

But at least she got the perfect photo.

00:12:19 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Brandon, what's up, Brandon? How you doing? What's going on, buddy? Hi. Roger? What's going?

00:12:26 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hi, bud. What's going on? I wasn't sure how long I was supposed to wait. Listen, hi, my name's Brandon. Long time listener for some time. Hi, Brandon.

00:12:37 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 4:

Brandon's on the phone.

00:12:40 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 1:

So, unfortunately, as much as I love Megan, she is wrong. Okay. Anti-lock brakes were designed to, once you put your foot on the pedal, it pumps the brakes for you so you do not have to. There you go. Because most people freak out. In older vehicles, they didn't have anti-lock brakes, which you have to learn how to pump the brakes correctly. You know, sometimes you let on them hard. Sometimes you let off, and you go back and forth. But newer vehicles with anti-lock brakes, which is why when you hit the brakes hard, you'll hear a loud vibration noise, and your pedal will bounce.

00:13:18 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 2:

Huh. Learn something new every day.

00:13:21 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 1:

Because it's actually pumping the pedals for you.

00:13:22 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 3:

How do you know if your car is an old car or an old car?

00:13:25 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, I've never had that happen to me, so I've only had hoops, apparently.

00:13:30 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Anything in the 90s and up anymore is going to have anti-lock brakes. Okay, so what happens if you still pump it? Brandon, what happens if you still pump it?

00:13:41 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if you can hear me.

00:13:42 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

See, some vehicles now, too, like anti-lock brake systems won't work. There'll be a fault somewhere along the line, whether it's in the wheel or in the anti-lock brake system. and sometimes they don't always work for people so you do have to pump it yourself sometimes like you tab was saying you know you can still pump it yourself too i do i mean i just depending on each situation's variant like somebody was saying earlier the best way to learn is just like having when you were a kid and you had a go-kart or something go in the parking lot and play around go find an empty parking lot and just turn that wheel hit the brakes whip around see what that car is going to do or that vehicle is going to do in the snow so you know what to do when it happens on the road.

00:14:24 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, I appreciate it there. Thanks for calling, Brandon. Thank you. Congratulations on being the first time.

00:14:30 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

Brandon from Pet Boys.

00:14:32 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What do you do, by the way? We are taking all this. We're acting like you're a Mr. Professional. What do you do for a living?

00:14:37 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 4:

He's gone.

00:14:39 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. I have no idea. Hi. That's what I do. I call radio stations. What I do is I give them the wrong info. People calling.

00:14:48 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

I love that he said, you're wrong, but also you should probably do it.

00:14:52 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Because it doesn't always work. It doesn't seem like a bad thing to pump the brakes, though, regardless if you got this anti-lock or not. I'm a pumper, bro.

00:14:59 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 4:

He was like, that is wrong, but you should because it doesn't always work.

00:15:04 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 3:

I get scared. I honestly get scared when I'm pulling down the street here at the radio station and not so much to slide off the side of the road. All of the potholes are now covered by some of the snow that's on the road. And I know what's going to happen. You're going to hit one of those damn things and it's going to blow out your tire or do something kind of crazy. Because there's a bajillion. And this, by the way, you guys don't think that the temperatures that we have right now are going to cause craters in the road? I mean, we're going to see it. So, what, another day of this crap? Is that the story as far as the forecast is concerned?

00:15:38 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 4:

I mean, tomorrow we're warming up to 25.

00:15:41 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

That's going to feel balmy. I'm going to wear short sleeves. But you know what? That's going to happen. That's when you're going to be driving down Gratiot, And Gratiot's going to have a monster-sized crater hole inside of that thing. Call Big Gretch up and tell her here come the potholes. Shout out to Big Gretch. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Got a lot of stuff to get to. We're going to get to it this morning. Got a lot of topics to talk about, personal stuff to talk about. The five lies to tell your mom is hysterical. We're going to call this 11-year-old kid Horny Henry. Coming up this morning, five lies to tell your mom. A daughter calls grandma to say that her grandson, Henry, used grandma's credit card on Pornhub. Get ready for grandma's reaction to horny Henry coming up this morning.

00:16:31 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 2:

Text Mustard, M-U-S-T-A-R-D. Text that to us at 95500 for a chance to win. Text Mustard, M-U-S-T-A-R-D to 95500. And you could be going to Ford Field to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA on June 10th. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:20:30 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s. Yeah.

00:20:34 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 3:

Tell them spell it regular. Don't spell it all crazy. Not Dijon, not Honey Mustard, just regular mustard, or you're not going to be entered to win.

00:20:42 - 00:21:06 | Speaker 4:

I have to be quite honest with you. I think that the Kendrick Lamar ticket giveaways between mustard, squabble, I think that we are making the world smarter. We're making people learn how, and we're making your iPhones do a lot of autocorrect because they're basically wondering why you're texting Squabble or Mustard. What do you got, Shannon, in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:21:06 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 6:

Well, Justin Bieber had fans, including myself, wondering about the status of his marriage to Haley after he unfollowed her on Instagram yesterday morning. Everybody was freaking out about this. Well, shortly after that happened, he got on his Instagram story to clear the air. And I don't know if I buy this. I want to buy it. But he wrote, someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Spit is getting suss out here.

00:21:34 - 00:21:39 | Speaker 5:

You get access to that account. The only thing you're doing is unfollowing somebody. You're not posting anything.

00:21:40 - 00:21:45 | Speaker 4:

I could see where. Don't you think that there was somebody that's just trying to mess with him and stuff?

00:21:45 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 6:

The problem is he has been unfollowing people for like the last two weeks, three weeks.

00:21:52 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 4:

But maybe he hasn't. And maybe it's the person that's doing the, that did it. Have you guys ever had somebody that had your account and then you didn't know for the longest time and then you found out that there were some people there?

00:22:02 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 6:

Somebody had my account and replaced all my stuff with porn. So that's what I'm saying. I think it would be way more than just an unfollow, but I don't know. I hope that's just what it is, but that's the story that we got yesterday.

00:22:16 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 5:

If you're smart, create a Venmo, post it up on his page and say, donate to this family and get as much money from his followers as you possibly can. Don't just unfollow his wife. No, but when my Instagram got hacked, they posted a ton of ads that had a...

00:22:31 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 6:

Like a QR code?

00:22:32 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, like they got a kickback if you bought from it. So everybody who bought these sunglasses, so they posted these ads all over my page, they got money from.

00:22:40 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 4:

Somebody got prosecuted for doing that, a fake GoFundMe under somebody's name, and they ended up getting prosecuted for that. I hope so. I didn't realize it. I guess it's that internet crime is like a federal crime.

00:22:50 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 3:

If it is somebody that's hacking into his system, it's probably somebody that's close to him that probably doesn't need the money and they're looking for ways to hurt him. And probably a way to hurt him is by doing this.

00:23:01 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 6:

Well, then he posted like a carousel of photos and there were some photos of Haley in there and the baby. In Other Dirty Today, Fort Lane men were arrested in Clark County, Ohio, with items believed to have been stolen from a Hamilton County home back on December 9th. The same day that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's home was burglarized.

00:23:20 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 2:

Right now, four suspects are under arrest, accused of burglarizing the home of Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow. Burrow, sideline, chase, spin, touchdown Bengals! He was playing in Dallas last month when police say his bedroom window was shattered, his home ransacked. The break-in coming after several other high-profile athletes were victimized in similar burglaries, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey. Detectives were investigating whether a South American crime ring was responsible.

00:23:49 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 1:

They pick high-end homes, whether they're athletes or not, because that's where you're going to find valuable items. If they take Wi-Fi jammers with them, and in some places they even cover up the cameras as they go in.

00:24:03 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

Now, four Chilean nationals face charges in connection with the borough burning. Authorities say the men were arrested after an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle near Dayton, Ohio, pulled the car over, and found tools to break glass, along with an old shirt from LSU and a Bengals hat, believed to have been taken from Burroughs' home. Police say the men are in the country illegally and are suspected of being behind a string of burglaries of multi-million dollar homes.

00:24:27 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 1:

The police will tell you that these cases are very difficult to make. They come into the country, they use alias names, they many times will bring false passports with them to go open bank accounts. And once they can do that, whatever they can turn stolen goods into cash, they then wire the money back to their homeland and then they leave.

00:24:53 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

I'm assuming that this is the same ring that is responsible for some of the.

00:25:00 - 00:25:03 | Speaker 3:

burglaries and homes in our listening area as well. Yeah.

00:25:03 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 2:

There was a report this morning that we may even hear from Mike Bouchard, the sheriff of Oakland County. The Chilean gang. Yes. I love it. Chilean. Organized. That's Chile. By the way, I love it. I had Chile yesterday. It's Chile season.

00:25:19 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 3:

I had Chile yesterday. It was so good. Are y'all out the can or y'all like making? I went to a restaurant and ordered it, but it was really good. I'm out the can. Can we do a

00:25:28 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

A chili cook-off. I've always wanted to have a chili cook-off for celebrities in the area make their famous chili and come in, and we all eat it. Or firefighters. Or firefighters. Then we invite the Chilean gang to come in, and they get to be the judges. I'd like to welcome the Chilean gang, everybody over here.

00:25:52 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 3:

And with the Grimmies fast approaching, everybody from industry pros to music fans in general are divided over whether to go, whether to attend in the wake of the L.A. wildfires. While it may feel insensitive, hotels in the area are basically begging people, please come. The fear of potentially taking hotel rooms away from residents who lost their homes and still need temporary housing is a thing. But all of the hotels are saying we have the capacity to do both. The inventory is available, and actually that revenue stream is really, really important to make sure that thousands of Angelenos stay employed, who work for the hotels, even the restaurants and stuff. So definitely, you know, if you're planning on going and making that a thing, do it. Either way, there will be less going on. Pretty much all of the parties, like the music label parties, have been canceled, but the Grammys are still happening next Sunday night, February 2nd. I didn't even think about that.

00:26:49 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 2:

Today, by the way, they're calling for more big wins that are in the area, and they have more fires that popped up yesterday, so it's not good.

00:26:58 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 1:

Man, Taylor Swift need to say today, just throw an era's concert. She boosts the economy. We're doing our iHeart concert.

00:27:06 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 2:

So we're doing it right now. We've been promoting it all on the air with, yeah, and like a bajillion others.

00:27:13 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 3:

Hey, for all of today's dirty, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or mojointhemorning.com.

00:27:18 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 2:

But Taylor's not playing it. Can we get Taylor to play? Sam. We can't have him call her up.

00:27:22 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 1:

That's all you need. That's Lydia girl.

00:27:24 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Go. Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s. Mojo in the Morning Show. It is so funny just having a little conversation with Shannon of how something can completely change in you as a child to an adult. Something that you never really ever had any issues with as a child suddenly can become an issue when you are a little bit older. In Shannon's case, a lot older. Because she's a year older.

00:28:13 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

By the way, thank you for my birthday card that just simply said, you're catching up to me. As a kid and even as like a young adult, I still feel like I'm a young adult, but I was never afraid of heights ever. I like I love roller coasters. I have gone skydiving several times. I Chelsea and I remember jumped off the top of that building in Vegas like heights. It was crazy. Yeah. Heights have never been a thing for me until now, apparently, because over the weekend, And Wes and I took the kids to a very cool spot, by the way, just down the street from the radio station called Dino Detroit. And it's like an indoor rock climbing place, which I've done that before once as well. And I don't know what it was, but I they go through the whole training process. I'm fine. I'm fine. Wes, you know, Wes is crazy. And so he like climbed up the wall in two seconds and came back down. And then Lucy and Smith, it took Smith a little a second, but both of them are naturals. they went right up to the top of the wall. Now mind you, you're in a harness, so everything is very safe. But they climbed up and climbed down and they're like, okay, mom, go, go. You guys, I get halfway up like the easy wall and I look down and I can feel myself shaking, actually shaking. And I thought I am so terrified, but I don't want to admit that in front of the kids and Wes who just made it look so darn easy. And I'm like, when did this happen? That I am very much afraid of heights as an adult like overnight I feel like this happened and I finally turned around I had tears in my eyes and I looked down at Wes and I was maybe I don't know I'm bad at this stuff but like 20 feet off the ground like I wasn't very far I'm like I'm terrified I have to come back down

00:30:00 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 4:

and i did at the end of the night finally make it to the top but i don't know i'll ever do that

00:30:04 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 5:

again yeah i wonder how much of that is when you're young you like there's not that like fear of death in general like it's the invincibility complex like nothing's going to happen to me and once you hit a certain point in life you're like i could fall this could be a very expensive

00:30:20 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 4:

medical bill i'm i will die one day like i was frozen i yeah no i'm frozen like this like trying to climb up another rock i don't know what you call it and um i i could just feel my whole body

00:30:35 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 5:

trembling right like i've jumped out of an airplane and mojo i wonder if you've done this in chicago uh the sears tower has that sky deck or whatever hell no never bothered me over yeah never bothered me it's like a glass box on the hundredth floor of this building or whatever that you stand inside of and like truly did not give me like the knee wobbles or anything and now you you put me on a 10 foot ledge? And I'm like, this is how I go. Yeah. I think Megan's right. I think

00:31:01 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

it's that you now have, you now have this whole thing of, okay, I have things to live for. No, really? Like there's, yeah. Um, 844 Mojo live. If that's the case with you, like where you've ever, like as a kid had no problem with anything. And then now as an adult, you're suddenly afraid of it. I could not imagine being married to your husband, uh, Shannon, because he's one of those guys that like likes to do adventurous crap. Yeah. And to me, like, if you should married me, you'd be sitting on a couch. You know what I mean? I like that stuff. The most adventurous thing would be what we're ordering from

00:31:33 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 4:

DoorDash. Yeah, baby! I know. I know. That's crazy.

00:31:39 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it is funny. I remember that when you and Chelsea did the whole stratosphere thing. That's what it was. They went down in the stratosphere. I mean, we were

00:31:47 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 4:

drunk. Let's be real. The entire time,

00:31:49 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm down at the bottom going, okay, so what will I do with all the money that I'm going to get from suing these guys, you know? I'm just thinking the whole time, this is crazy. These two girls die.

00:32:01 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 3:

For me, I used to love, well, I mean, I still do, but I used to, like, be excited to go on an airplane. Like, that moment of, like, going extremely fast, and then you take off and you rise in the air. I used to be the first one, let me get the window seat so I can look over, look at the little houses. Now I'm trying my best to go to sleep extremely fast because my heart starts racing the moment that we take off. I'm like, oh, my God, is this how I go out? Is that crazy?

00:32:26 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 4:

Where's the switch? Bruh, no idea. How does that happen?

00:32:30 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. What's up, Olivia? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing, Olivia?

00:32:42 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 1:

Hey. So a few years back with the, I'm older, right? So I have kids. I was in school at the same time, and they took us to this Adventure Tree Runner thing in West Bloomfield. Oh, yeah. You climb high, and I did it, and it was fantastic. And then I was in a car accident last year, and I hurt my shoulder, and I really didn't want to take the kids after that. And I went with them, and I swear to God, I was going to pee my pants on the kids' course. Yes! Yes! I did it, and my face was frowning the whole time, and that was not because I hated it. I just wanted to get down the street, and I'm like, what happened? I was just so scared.

00:33:21 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 5:

And Olivia, to your point, I'm not scared of roller coasters, but I will tell you my body has given up on me. My inner ear will not let me ride a roller coaster at Cedar Point anymore.

00:33:31 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 1:

I used to love them. Like, I loved the whole thrill. Now I'm kind of like, I don't want to be a chicken when I go next to them. Yes.

00:33:38 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 2:

You know what else is another one, too, for fear? Yeah. Like, heights are big ones. Thank you. Water, for some reason. Do you guys ever have the fear? Yeah.

00:33:45 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 4:

if you're... I've always been afraid of, like, deep water. I'm not... I can't even say I'm not a good swimmer. I am not a swimmer. Like, I don't think I could swim

00:33:55 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 2:

to save my life. I have people take me out on their boat, and to me, it's like, they live on Cass Lake, and they'll be like, hey, this is a really deep part of the Cass Lake. I'm like, I don't want a deep part of Cass Lake. I want the shallow. I want to hang out in the sandbar with the Chaldean girls. Like, I don't want any of this stuff. And the deep part of Cass Lake, you know what's at the bottom of the deep part of Cass Lake? Somebody.

00:34:15 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 4:

Stop.

00:34:16 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 2:

Jason Voorhees. I want nothing. I guarantee you there's probably some cars or ships or I don't know what's in it. Hoffa. Maybe not ships. Yeah, Hoffa. That's where Jimmy Hoffa is. So this place is called Dino, what is it?

00:34:31 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 4:

It's called Dino Detroit, but it's D-Y-N-O. Honestly, it was so much fun. And it's like we could walk there from the radio station.

00:34:37 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I've heard great things.

00:34:39 - 00:34:52 | Speaker 2:

You know what my fear is with a place like that? tearing an ACL or you know like yeah I hear these people all the time they're like yeah how'd you hurt yourself uh I hurt myself at uh you know air zone or whatever

00:34:52 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 4:

sky zone urban air yeah yeah urban air no offense urban air by the way you're sponsoring the five

00:34:57 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 2:

So, Eric, here's the story. Yesterday, it seemed very apparent when you just threw out Chappell Rhone as your guest to a question that had nothing to do with Chappell Rhone, that somebody possibly was sending you the answers to the test.

00:43:58 - 00:43:59 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:43:59 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

You ready for five lies? For sure. Your mom, is she the type of person that will have a good sense of humor about this, or will she hold it against you?

00:44:11 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 3:

She's going to be mad at first. The funny thing is that she's going to be with my son, so she's with my son right now.

00:44:19 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, nice. That's perfect because we're going to be using your son for this five lies. All right. Five lies. Tell your mom. We're going to tell her that there's an issue. You're going to say, line number one, mom, we have an issue.

00:44:33 - 00:44:34 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:44:34 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 1:

Line number two.

00:44:36 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 3:

Say, I just got an email. Okay.

00:44:39 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 1:

Line number three. Your son's 11 years old. Yep. You're going to say that your son was looking up porn again.

00:44:51 - 00:44:51 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:44:51 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Lie number, wait, that sounds like he's actually done this before. He has. Oh, geez. Oh, God. Okay. Lie number four.

00:45:00 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 5:

You're going to say, it looks like he used your credit card.

00:45:04 - 00:45:04 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:45:05 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

And line number five, and now we have over $1,000 in charges.

00:45:11 - 00:45:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:45:13 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

All right. Your son is with your mom while we're going to be doing this thing.

00:45:18 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:45:19 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, so is my sister, and my sister knows what's going on.

00:45:22 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, good. Okay, so maybe she'll play along with it.

00:45:24 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 3:

Hopefully he won't get in too much trouble.

00:45:26 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're calling up. Here we go. Okay.

00:45:30 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 3:

hello hey mom hey so um we have an issue kind of issue i just got i just got an email saying that Henry was apparently looking at porn again. And he from like a site and he apparently used a credit card with your name on it. And he wrapped up Yeah. Mom, the bill though is over $1,000.

00:46:22 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Jamie, is this a real thing or not? What do you mean, a real thing? Are you joking me? Why would I joke to you? Huh? What? Is this a joke? Why would I joke about this? I don't know. Go tell Draven he's got to go home. I want the boys in the house. Okay, so what credit card number, Jamie? How do we know all this information? Because they sent me an email. Who sent you an email?

00:46:56 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

The, like, porn website with the charges, because I'm connected to Henry's iPhone.

00:47:04 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and how do we know it's my credit card to use?

00:47:07 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Because it says your name.

00:47:09 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

So are you saying he stole my credit card, too? Yeah. Okay, yeah, we got a big problem then, Jamie. We don't have a little problem. We have a big problem.

00:47:21 - 00:47:21 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:47:21 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 4:

So, I think you need to come home, and we need to deal with the problem now. Yeah. And everything needs to be, I mean, Henry needs to leave the phone. Yeah. And I need to know the credit card that it's attached to. Okay. So, I can call the credit card company, and they have fraudulent charges. Okay. So, bring me the information you have. Okay. and probably need to leave work. Okay. All right.

00:47:56 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

Mom?

00:47:58 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

00:48:01 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 1:

Mom, how you doing? This is the Mojo in the Morning show, just listening in on this phone line here.

00:48:06 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:48:10 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 1:

And before you look at your grandson in a bad light, this is five lies to tell your mom. Wait, and by the way, that is definitely not Henry, because that doesn't sound like an 11-year-old. Who is that in the background?

00:48:32 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 5:

That's my godson. He's a 5-year-old.

00:48:35 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:48:36 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 5:

That I was going to keep away from Henry for a while.

00:48:39 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, Mom. Mom, hide your credit cards. I bet you that you're right away running to find out where your purse is.

00:48:49 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

No, but actually I was thinking because Jamie and Henry do live with me now and I've done the teenage years, that Henry is getting to that age. Do I need to start hiding my purse again?

00:48:58 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

I think so. Let's put a lock on that phone of his and make sure he's not going on any crazy sites.

00:49:04 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my heart cannot take it. Did she tell you how old I am? You guys just ate me.

00:49:10 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

Listen, you're a youngster. You're 50, she said, and she wanted to wish you all the love in the world.

00:49:18 - 00:49:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes, he does.

00:49:21 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 1:

Mom, congratulations. We got a prize for you for Five Lies Tell Your Mom.

00:49:26 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 4:

It better be a good prize.

00:49:28 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's a good one. You're going to love it. Hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll set you up with that. Where's Henry at right now? He's out front wrestling with his buddies. Yeah. Where's that little pervert at right now?

00:49:42 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:49:43 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Five for me.

00:49:45 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 2:

Sweet.

00:49:45 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mama. In 15 or less on Mojo in the Morning. It's Shannon's Dirty on the Dirty. But first.

00:49:55 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

First, coming up here on the Mojo in the Morning show, Kev with You Can't Get.

00:50:00 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 2:

Get whatever you want. We'll get into that. Also, is there an age limit for leaving your kids home alone on a snow day? I want to ask about that because I heard some friends that were leaving their very, very young kids home while they went to work yesterday. And a trip to Florida. Let's get you the F out of here. We're going to get you out of this cold, although it's cold in Florida. coming up. I'm pretty sure I just

00:50:28 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 3:

keyed the car next to me with my nipples. Damn, it's cold. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:50:34 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

You're in the morning. Man. I hate to call out somebody here right now, but I want to call somebody out because I thought this is actually a pretty good topic. Call them out! In general. I'm going to call them out! Is it one of us? Call them out! Call them out! Call them out!

00:50:48 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 1:

Call them out! Bring them out is a song, but I'm with you. Wasn't that the song? No, that's T.I. Yeah, bring them out. Bring them out. Bring them out. Bring them out.

00:50:56 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 3:

Change it for the topic. I like that.

00:50:59 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 2:

All right, hold on. Hold on. I'm going to get it. I'm going to get it right now. I'm going to pull it up on my iHeartRadio app, the handy-dandy iHeartRadio app, which, by the way, now has presets. Preset the Mojo in the Morning Show, plus preset all of your stations that you can get us on, like Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM. And make sure you put the More Mojo podcast on there. Please do it. It's the iHeartRadio app. Get it today. And when you get it today, you get us to keep our jobs for another year. Thank you, Bob Pittman. Bobby P. All right, here we go. Ready? Here we go. This morning on the Mojo on the Morning Show, I'm going to... Call them out. Call them out. Call them out. Call them out. Call them out. Call them out. Right. Call them out. Call them out.

00:51:46 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 1:

This is our song we try to do on Friday's online.

00:51:50 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Call them out. Call them out. It's the slightly off beat for me.

00:51:55 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 1:

Am I off?

00:51:56 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Creativity points, though. You've never been off beats ever.

00:52:02 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Ever.

00:52:04 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 2:

All right. So here's the deal. By the way, I just want you to know this. I've got 50% Cuban in me. So that's my 50% Cuban not showing.

00:52:12 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was going to say, it's the white that was showing there.

00:52:16 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 2:

That was. That was the 50% Irish mom. Yeah.

00:52:19 - 00:52:19 | Unknown:

All right.

00:52:19 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So, you know, Detroit declared a cold emergency for yesterday and today. Obviously, Grand Rapids, Toledo, too. I mean, there's a lot of schools that are closed in our listening areas. So I messaged a buddy of mine just out of the blue yesterday to say, hey, what's going on? How's it going? You know, what are you doing? And I asked, he said, hey, you're at home right now. Did you take a personal day or a vacation day because your kids are home from school? and he said no he said uh he said both he and his wife went to work but they left a cell phone home so that their kids could check in with them in case there was an emergency they you know said their kids were probably going to sleep in pretty much most of the day i have to ask this question what are the ages that you leave your kids home alone 10 and 8 just seems too young to me oh yeah and i hate to call i hate to call you know him out and say this and that's why i will not call him out call him out i will not uh say his uh say his name nor will i give out his a address of one two three in case cps is listening yes i but i because i i was the baby of the family so i always had uh older siblings like my sister mary joe is like 13 years older than me so she was pretty much like a mom to me she actually was my godmother but i never had to worry about this And our kids, Chelsea and I never even let Joe babysit Luke because we just didn't trust him. But I, I, we always had babysitters. I feel weird even leaving my kids to go drive up to the Kroger on Union Lake Road and leave them home at a certain age. Like I think 10 and eight just seems, you know, very, very young. You think so? So it's the eight. Oh yeah.

00:54:10 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 3:

So like I would never leave Lucy home alone with Smith and Smith is seven. And really, I will never leave Lucy home alone, even. She's almost 11. But, like, the other day, I had to drop off something at my friend Lindsay's house. Lindsay lives maybe three minutes, four minutes from me. And she was like, Mom. She was building a Lego set, and it was just her. And she was like, please, please, please, please, please. I don't want to leave. She didn't want to go out in the cold. And then come back. And I was like, okay, I will be back in less than 10 minutes. But I was a nervous wreck the entire time.

00:54:40 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

I think it's one of them situations. It's not a one-size-fits-all bag. For sure. I think you got to know yourself and you got to know your kids. For sure. Some parents aren't as anxious and nervous as others, and some kids are more mature to be able to handle the situation. Right. I remember when I was younger, my mom used to allow my sister and I to not only stay home by ourselves, but we kind of have...

00:55:00 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 3:

free reign like we know how to use the george foreman grill there were certain things we could

00:55:03 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 2:

bro the foreman the foreman doesn't get fired up that's what i'm saying no no no no you just

00:55:08 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 3:

grilling but that's anything can happen didn't start a fire though uh i never did it i don't know i okay so because melinda's older than you right no lynn younger lynn like three four years

00:55:18 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 1:

younger than me oh why did i think she was older than you so how old how old were you guys i'm

00:55:23 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 3:

probably around this 10 age seven age okay so she was probably seven melinda used to make the eggs And I used to handle the George Foreman grill. So we was on the store.

00:55:31 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 1:

See, I don't trust Smith, I think, is what it is.

00:55:34 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 2:

Toast bread? What did you guys do, too?

00:55:36 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 3:

I used to have the Bob Evans sausage, and I heat it up like that. I was on toast, and then she would handle the eggs.

00:55:43 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 2:

Sizzling over in the fire. And then we would go watch PB&J.

00:55:46 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, it's not even that I think my kids would do anything bad that would cause our house to go on fire or whatever, like leave the house. I am so scared that they are so sucked into YouTube. Somebody could come rob my house, and they won't even know.

00:56:00 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but to be fair.

00:56:00 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 1:

Because they're just zoned.

00:56:02 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 5:

The last time I set my dad's house on fire, I was 21. Grown as hell.

00:56:06 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't think it's really an age thing. That's just an accident thing. But this is all day. Your friend, it's all day, right? Because he's at work.

00:56:14 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:56:14 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 1:

So that to me is, I feel like I'm alive. I feel like.

00:56:18 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, would you leave Josiah at the apartment? Listen, I am not. Listen, I'm a soft-ass parent, bro. And I have left Josiah to your point. Let me go to Kroger real quick. As long as it's like 30 minutes or less. But anything can happen. As long as it's a perfect situation, 30 minutes or less, I can be back. Yes. But I get scared. Like, my brain starts like, damn, what if he choke on a grape? And, like, I can't, like, give him the Heimlich maneuver. Like, I start going crazy in my mind. But he's like, dad, I'm good. Trust me, I'm fine. I'm literally just going to be in my room. I'm not even going to eat. He said this two days ago.

00:56:51 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:56:51 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 2:

I always love the analogy that people give about leaving their kids in the car when they run into 7-Eleven or Speedway. And I always love the analogy of, would you leave your purse sitting on your front seat of your car while you went into Speedway or 7-Eleven? I kind of wonder if that analogy works in this case. Like, would you leave your house open with your wallet and money sitting on the countertop?

00:57:14 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 5:

But you're not leaving it open.

00:57:16 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, I know, but you've got your kids there, so I don't know.

00:57:19 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 5:

But I don't think it's the same. I don't think it's the same.

00:57:23 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 2:

Sierra, what's going on? I get it. You were how old? I get your theory. How old? Megan, how old? No, before Sierra. How old? Scott Mick. By the way, Scott Mick, you could go back to jail for past sins of the past for leaving Megan.

00:57:38 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 3:

No statute of limitations.

00:57:40 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 2:

Scott Mick traveled for a living. That guy was down in Mexico, I guarantee, and Megan was like five sitting at home in Toledo. Alone.

00:57:47 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I was using a grill indoors. I had a generator running inside.

00:57:51 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 2:

She was throwing full-on house parties and stuff. Hi, Sierra. What's up?

00:57:58 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey, Sierra's on the phone. Oh, my gosh. I've been waiting for that for years.

00:58:07 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 2:

Ooh. By the way, says no woman to me ever.

00:58:10 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 4:

i was gonna tell you guys that my youngest sister is 14 right well as of in a couple of days from now but we've been leaving her home since she's been like 8 to 10 years old i mean she cooks she cleans she she's all the above she's at home cooking all the time too wow oh man uh and wait

00:58:33 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 2:

a second uh what's your address oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa you don't uh you don't think that that

00:58:43 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

seems kind of young eight years old i mean she always had me and my youngest brother the my oldest sister so i mean we were always home but like on days like we had school or something she'd be home for a couple hours by herself doing her own thing okay all right listen i'm not going

00:59:00 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 2:

to judge because my parenting was a little bit different i also jealousy was also very very uh stern you know with the kids on on certain things that they couldn't could not do uh you know i mean like i i but but with that said you know i kind of wanted my kids to get kidnapped but go ahead uh kim what's going on kim are you there hi hey kim hi kim hello good morning kim How old are your kids?

00:59:32 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 5:

They are 8 and 10.

00:59:34 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so the perfect age for this one because this is my friend's kid's age. Would you leave them home by themselves on a snow day?

00:59:42 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 5:

On a snow day, yes, we would. We leave them when we go to the store and leave for a few hours at a time. They have a tablet. They're able to reach us. We actually watch them on our dog camera to make sure they're not killing each other.

00:59:57 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so hold on. You give him just a 10.

01:00:00 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 3:

tablet so that's the only line of communication is their tablet with your wi-fi they're able to reach us they're able to dial out as well okay i i you would leave them home for say for instance that you work until what five would you leave them what happens if you got into a car accident or something bad happened while you're to you at work would you how would you uh have somebody

01:00:22 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 4:

watching your kids we have really awesome neighbors that are home all the time takes a village yes it does also first time long time

01:00:32 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 2:

Kim's on the phone I'm such a nervous Nelly where do you live

01:00:39 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 3:

what town do you live in Millbury

01:00:44 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 4:

Ohio Millbury is very small

01:00:47 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 3:

but that's what I'm wondering sometimes the people that live in more rural areas are more willing to do it I don't necessarily know if somebody that lives I don't know in Canton or, I don't know, even in Detroit.

01:01:02 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 4:

And I don't want to speak for Kim, but I don't know, first of all, how many options people have. Sometimes that is the only option, both financially and with being in small communities. Like, that's your choice.

01:01:14 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. By the way, Justin's on with us. And, Justin, we're talking about this. Is there an age rule at all or a law at all about this?

01:01:26 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 1:

Actually, no. in the state of michigan it's all on the preference of the parents and how they believe the maturity and responsibility level is for their kids um so i've i have three daughters of my own as a single father and mine range from 11 to three my 11 year old does stay at the at the house i will never leave my three-year-old with her of course but i have seen instances and parents literally leave five-year-olds and six-year-olds and it's literally all due to the preference of what they can do call 9-1-1 do they know their address do they know who to contact and the state of michigan they did away with that law as far as in because i know one of uh one of your talkers were saying don't call cps yes cps won't get involved and if they do they would literally come in the house see if you got food running water and heat and then they'll walk away

01:02:18 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 3:

yeah i um i just think that uh i don't know i'd be really careful i'd just be really really

01:02:27 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 1:

careful very true and nowadays i mean you don't know anybody can can come in or do anything but that's what most parents are doing is literally having cameras ring cameras um i don't know about just a tablet uh my 11 year old she's had a phone since she was 10 because she earned it um able to ring out she has emergency contacts and then we also set up a schedule for when i'm at work for grandma or aunts and uncles to call on a regular on a regular time if she's out of school if she's in school it's literally right before the bus right how quick by the way if

01:03:04 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 3:

grandma or grandpa calls how quick can she be over there if an emergency is going on if the if the kitchen's on fire how fast can grandma get her pants on and over there

01:03:12 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 1:

No, that's another thing. Five minutes down the road, literally. Oh, see, that's very nice. Yeah, and I know some parents don't have that luxury to be able to just say, hey, you know who's down the road. They don't have that, and especially rural areas now. I grew up, and I think our closest neighbor was like a mile and a half, two miles down the road, and so a lot of kids don't understand that luxury of saying, hey, I can just call so-and-so, and they're right down the street.

01:03:40 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 3:

yeah um i you know it i know maybe my kids are just different kids i just i just didn't trust them but uh some people are very very trusting of their children and maybe that's the reason why my

01:03:52 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 4:

kids now are grown adult for me it's not that i don't trust my kids i don't trust anybody else

01:03:57 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

people i don't trust people tim actually tim why would you never leave uh your teenage kids a home

01:04:04 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 2:

alone at all tim hello hey bud how you doing hey man so uh i have a 17 year old a 15 year old and a 13 year old okay and my 17 year old i love her to death she's not she blew or she ruined one of our microwaves i think it was like last year she did the cup of noodles and forgot to put water in the whole entire house was engulfed in smoke oh my gosh and then out of out of all three of my kids the only one that i would be willing to leave home is my 15 year old because she's 15 going on probably 27 and my 13 year old even while we're home because my wife will allow him to cook you know because he's trying to be independent which whatever he's left the stove on and went into his room and ate whatever it is that he made and my wife ended up catching it before anything bad happened. yeah so and if i leave my my my youngest daughter and my son together we'll come home to a body because my my daughter my daughter would probably murder him oh geez yeah well he's 13 years old and he thinks everything is funny and he just wants to constantly poke fun at her this guy tim

01:05:21 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 3:

is tim is more realistic than these last callers that we were talking about that's exactly the reason why i don't think you leave your kids that are eight and ten years old home alone because i think the kids are are kids you know what i mean but in those type of situations in those type of

01:05:34 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 4:

situations though you can make food for your children you can leave something in the refrigerator so they don't have to use like everything he's everything he talked about was kind of preventable

01:05:43 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 3:

as long as you plan properly well but still though when an accident does happen or something does happen and i even think if it happens at the adults home there's still a chance that the adults can't act fast enough but at least you know that you have a little bit more common sense than they do or at least a little bit more street knowledge you know i don't know i think what we're solving

01:06:04 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 4:

for is peace of mind more than anything yes that's it i think peace of mind is probably the

01:06:08 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 3:

01:06:45 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

look bad at this point yesterday the legal team for actor director justin baldoni released a series of videos um video takes really from the movie set of it ends with us as they continue to push back on blake lively's sexual harassment claims so catching you up in about 10 seconds blake sued justin earlier this month for harassment and retaliation accusing him of inappropriate and offensive interactions during production he is now suing her back but among her accusations She objected to his conduct during filming of a slow dance sequence when their characters are supposed to be falling in love. If you've seen the movie, you know exactly which scene I'm talking about. But man, oh man, as I'm watching these takes from that sequence that Justin's team released, I'm going, they're fine. They're both acting professional and talking about how this scene should go. And it just seems okay. I don't know. Listen to this. he's talking about how she smells good how her spray tan smells good she's laughing there i don't i don't know i fart in a little bit i don't know and remember the whole drama about how she told him that he needed to get a nose job and he said he was very offended by that. I mean, this is, this is that take right here.

01:08:11 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

I feel so nosy. I know. I just noses. And my nose is so big. Yes. I was hoping that we could address this. It's not too late. Just got to shut down. We've got to call an insurance month and just deal with that. Yeah. And then, um, cut. Just kidding.

01:08:28 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 1:

Blake's team sees all of this very differently, by the way, arguing in a statement that the footage fully corroborates her account, showing her leaning away while Baldoni is trying to kiss her and caress her in one of these scenes. Her team says any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Miss Lively's discomfort. They will recognize her attempts at levity to try to deflect the unwanted touching. No woman should ever have to take defensive measures to avoid being touched by their employer without their consent. I really encourage you, if you're following this, to watch these takes that were released yesterday.

01:09:02 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 4:

What do you think, real quick, since you've seen the tapes? Does he look bad? Does it make her claims seem not as egregious as she may be?

01:09:09 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 1:

I think it makes both of them look like they're reaching for straws here. Megan had an interesting take. She's not in the studio right now, but she was saying she wonders if Blake Lively caught feelings for Justin Baldoni. Something happened. Ryan Reynolds got wind of it, and then this is her way of trying to, like, climb out of being in trouble with her husband in her marriage. I don't know. I don't know. Damn, Blake. Chris Brown is suing Warner Brothers for $500 million over sexual assault allegations posed in its Investigation Discovery docuseries, Chris Brown, A History of Violence. I haven't seen this yet. Have any of you guys watched that?

01:09:50 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm not watching this Chris Brown slander. Okay. Slander. The guy's a horrible human being.

01:09:55 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so let me get to both of what you said, both of your comments. Chris is accusing the producers behind this docuseries specifically of libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress through defamatory claims made against him. He alleges that the evidence provided to substantiate their claims in this docuseries is completely false. The suit goes on to allege that the claims of Jane Doe in this thing used as evidence against Chris have been discredited over and over and over again. and that she was a perpetrator of intimate partner violence and an aggressor herself. The suit acknowledges, to Mojo's point, that, yeah, Chris has made mistakes in the past. He's been the bad guy, which had publicly been acknowledged and addressed by him in his own 2017 documentary, Chris Brown, Welcome to My Life. But he says, and his team says, he has since grown from those experiences.

01:10:51 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 3:

You got audio or we about to talk? No, you can talk. Here's my thing. chris brown and rihanna got into a fight he was wrong for how he beat her and i'm not saying that he wasn't right we we've dealt with that everything since then everybody wants to revert back to that situation when you say he's a bad person legally he hasn't been found guilty for anything beyond that so what are you talking about it's a baseless claim

01:11:16 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 2:

okay let's look at this real quick because it's interesting that you that you say this the guy has been found guilty obviously of the rihanna situation right we know that he has been alleged in a lot of other instances where he's paid people off to make things go away and listen i'm not saying i agree with you in a court of law has he been found guilty no but he has also paid a lot of people off which is a lot of the same stuff that was going on for many many years with Harvey Weinstein over the years.

01:11:48 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so not the Harvey Weinstein.

01:11:50 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

No, well, I mean, there's a lot of people that are that way. I mean, I do think that you're sometimes very selective if you're a fan of the person. I think we all are. Listen, I think that, and I agree with you, but then you also allege other people be horrible, and then you go. I think that there's a level of probably some truth to all situations.

01:12:14 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 1:

And he's saying in this one specific situation with this one specific accuser, that's what he's pointing to is saying she has been discredited with her claims, you know, for a long time now pertaining to him.

01:12:29 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 2:

So Chris Brown's music is fantastic. I think Chris Brown would be bigger than Usher if that Rihanna thing didn't.

01:12:35 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I think it's easy to say that, but I think all of us can attest to it that there we wouldn't be the person we are today had we not going through the things that we went through. I think the thing that he went through is why we're getting the music and the type of person that he is today.

01:12:48 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 2:

I think if Chris Brown were somebody that didn't probably grow up with the life that he grew up with and had that incident happen with Rihanna, I think that Chris Brown would be bigger than Usher. He might even be bigger than Michael Jackson. He was on a trajectory of doing great things. You said if he didn't grow up the way that he did and if he wasn't, he would be a whole different person.

01:13:11 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 3:

He would have a different life. What do you mean he didn't grow up the way he did?

01:13:14 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 2:

He's very talented. He's a talented guy. Sometimes I see this with a lot of celebrity or athletes where they come from, you know, they have things that happen to them in their life that obviously make them go astray. And then they have incidents that happen where they just can't get themselves together. It's too bad. I like Chris Brown.

01:13:34 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 3:

Streaming music. He probably won't get the whole 500 mil, but he should win this case and get something.

01:13:38 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 1:

According to a home cleaning company, this is kind of random, called Home Glow. These are the songs that people are most likely to blast when they're doing chores around their house. Home Glow compiled this list after viewing 5,000 public playlists made to listen to while cleaning. I didn't know that people named specific lists for cleaning. Oh, you do? Yeah. Oh, I don't. I just put on whatever's on the app. But Whitney Houston's I Want to Dance with Somebody is number one. So when you're scrubbing those toilets, this will get you going. Up next, 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton. Rounding out the top three, Toxic by Britney Spears. Also on the list, Lose Control, Teddy Swims, Died with a Smile, Gaga, Hips Don't Lie, Hot to Go by Chappel Rhone. As you said, those are on the list. Espresso, Flowers by Miley, and Lowe by Flo Rida are also good songs, apparently, to clean to. No country? No, it's all dominated by pretty much pop music. Because, I mean, besides Dolly, Dolly 9 to 5 would be country. Okay.

01:14:45 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What would be your country song? I would like House Party by Sam Hunt. Ooh, that's a good one.

01:14:52 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 3:

When I got my Shindley steamer out, or I get my some Beyonce.

01:14:57 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I listen to Chris Brown music.

01:16:48 - 01:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Driving fat. My favorite are people who smoke. If you smoke in weather like this and you go outside to go smoke at your front of your office or you roll your windows down in your car smoking, you know what you are? Dumb.

01:17:03 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:17:03 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 1:

I hate to say it.

01:17:04 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 2:

It is time to quit. This is your sign.

01:17:07 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 1:

I'd be vaping right now. This would be my – I don't know what I would do. Like if I had – and listen, I can't give up eating. I have a struggle with eating. That's my addiction. but how can you smoke in weather like this you know i'm with you i don't think you can it's so cold should we should we open up the phone lines to smokers real quick yeah like the next i like this lydia let's open up the weather to smokers oh nice and let's let's have smokers let's have smokers do this smokers call up and tell us i would like to know can you call us up and tell us how many cigarettes are you having on a negative 20 degree day and think about the the people like

01:17:48 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

if you work at a hospital and you're a smoker and you have to walk you know how you have to walk like a certain distance from the building i mean that's that's adding time to how long you're outside you

01:17:59 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 1:

can get frostbite that's addiction yeah that's craziness that's addiction i don't know i don't know how you do it i i okay what is the negative right now negative uh our actually our official

01:18:11 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 2:

temperature is still negative three the real feel is negative 12. negative 12 i'd be sitting here with a cigarette between my two fingers maybe freezing all bundled up while we're waiting for the smokers to call i saw somebody in my neighborhood walking his dog yesterday actually saw him twice and i'm like get your poor dog inside the dog does not need to be walked today

01:18:35 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 3:

it can take a day or two off but not all dogs also like sometimes i feel bad when people get like, what is it, the Humane Society or the Animal Control or whatever you want to call it, called on them and their dogs thrive in the winter. Some dogs are made for winter. Dang, I did not look like a dog that was thriving. No, listen, I'm not saying all dogs, but I do feel bad when people have, like, huskies and they get their cops called on them. Yeah.

01:19:02 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 1:

Do their paws hurt from touching pavement, cold pavement? I would think that that would hurt. Yeah. It's actually salt to the goose. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, the salt does bother him. You're right, Zach. That's actually a really good point. I really did.

01:19:18 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 2:

I pulled up in my driveway, and I was like, that poor dog. And that was the second time that I saw the guy yesterday. And then I was like, do you feel bad for the dog, or do you feel bad that your dogs aren't getting walked? Because I'm like, I'm not bringing my dogs outside. No way. Yo, what does the salt do to the paws?

01:19:31 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I've never heard that before. I think that it's the chemical, or maybe it's the, it's like stepping on stones, too, for them, too, right? Wow. Cuts it up, and then the salt gets in the wound. Wow. That's crazy. Hold on. Smokers on the phone here. Should I play? Hold on. Should I do a smoke or something? Smoke weed. Any Wiz Khalifa song. Because I got high on something. Is that? Oh, here you go. There's a song called.

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 2:

Smoke. There's a country song called Smoke.

01:20:04 - 01:20:05 | Unknown:

Never heard of this song.

01:20:06 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

I think this is it right here. Smoke. Got it. All right. Yeah, I've heard of this song before. 99.5 WYCD. It's me, Dr. Mojo. What's going on? Candice, are you there? Hi, Candice.

01:20:27 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. How are you?

01:20:30 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 2:

Good. How many smoke breaks are you going to take today?

01:20:33 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 4:

No, I have two cigarettes a day. One on my way to work, one on my way home. But there's a bunch of people I work with who vape, and they go outside during the day. Oh, crazy. Like, that's insane to me. I can't go. I don't smoke in my house. I smoke in the garage. You can't smoke in the garage right now. And my window's down. Sorry.

01:21:00 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. At that point, I'm just smoking in my car. I'm ruining the upholstery. I don't care at this point if I'm smoking. If I can't give up, I'm just going to do that. Be careful, okay? I don't want you getting lung cancer and dying.

01:21:13 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 4:

All right. You have a great day.

01:21:14 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 2:

Ashley is a smoker Ashley what's going on Hi Ash Hey how you doing Good Ashley we're not By the way we're not calling you out We're not trying to embarrass you But how many cigarettes you'll be smoking today In negative 20 degrees

01:21:30 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 5:

I'm not even going to lie doc About 5 But I'm going to put them out And just keep smoking the same one You know

01:21:42 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 1:

When you go out, do you smoke faster when it's cold outside? Like, how hard are you hitting this cigarette?

01:21:51 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I hit it normally, but, yeah, I'm hitting it hard as I can. Start to finish, how long are you outside total? About five minutes at the most. But, like I said, I'm putting it out and just re-smoking the same way because my hands burn. It hurts. You know what you need to do?

01:22:09 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Put it out in your hand. Your hands are so cold, it probably won't hurt.

01:22:14 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 5:

You might be on the ground there. You might be on the ground there. But, Jess, I'm dumb. I agree.

01:22:20 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

I agree. I'm dumb.

01:22:21 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Devin is out in the... He's out smoking right now outside. Devin, what's happening? Devin, you crazy bastard. Speak. Devin. Devin.

01:22:36 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 6:

Oh, what up, Moncho?

01:22:38 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Devin, take us off, speaker. Talk to me in your trichotomy tube. What's going on?

01:22:42 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. Anybody that's smoking outside in this weather, it is like negative 20. You just get a couple puffs in and run back inside.

01:22:49 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 2:

Is that what you do? So you actually go out, take two puffs, and come back in, and it gives you the fix that you need? That's what crack is.

01:22:56 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. Especially, like, right now, I got to run between buildings. So in between building runs, puff and go. Yeah, that's what it sounds like. That's crack, bro.

01:23:05 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

That's crack. That's crazy, man. You are nuts. Just go outside, hit it a couple times, and come back in. Hold on. Renee, grab Renee. This is a great one. Renee, are you there? Yeah. Can you hear me? Renee, tell everybody what your neighbor's doing.

01:23:24 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 3:

What's that? My neighbor is crazy. She, well, first, first time, long time. Hey!

01:23:32 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 4:

Renee is on the phone!

01:23:37 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 3:

But she's crazy. She will, like, go outside in her nightgown, like, no jacket on, just, like, throw on some boots and open her garage, and she'll be outside smoking probably six, seven times a day the last couple days. And it's, like, I saw her this morning going out to work. It's crazy.

01:23:53 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Wait. She just has boots on? She has no pants on?

01:23:56 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 3:

No pants. Just boots and her nightgown. Oh, my God. She a real one. That is dedication.

01:24:02 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 2:

That is. What does she sound like? I'm going to tell you what her voice sounds like, because I guarantee you she's like her. First off, her name is Marge, and she's got kind of a deeper voice than I do, doesn't she?

01:24:11 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, for sure. I'm sick right now, but, you know, I might be able to do the smoker voice pretty well. Hi, Mojo.

01:24:20 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 4:

Where do you keep the cigarettes?

01:24:22 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, give me the, hi, this is Marge, Renee's neighbor, and I'm listening to Mojo in the morning.

01:24:31 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 5:

Hi, this is Marge, Renee's neighbor, and I'm listening to Mojo in the morning. Honestly, I'm kind of impressed.

01:24:44 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she'd be loving this.

01:24:46 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

She'd be outside right now sitting in front of her house going, Hey, Mojo, it's cold outside here. 100%. One time it was so cold outside and we're like, Jackie, where are you? She's like, I'm in my front yard. And we're like, Jackie, I just washed my hair.

01:27:02 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 2:

I feel like there are some people out there that feel like they can just do whatever they want, they're entitled to whatever they want, and that's how they live and operate. And I ran into one of these people when I went to Kroger. Picture this. I'm in Kroger. Got all my items. I'm in the checkout line. Now, typically, I do self-checkout.

01:27:24 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:27:24 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Today, I wanted to talk to somebody, so I chose an aisle that had a cashier and a bagger, dude. So, I'm in the lane, right? It's somebody already checking out. It's a guy in front of me, and then there's me. The checkout lane, this is one of the good Kroger's where they got both sides working because, you know, sometimes they shut off one lane, which I don't get. But this is one of the ones both are working, one physical person at the checkout. So I look over to the left and the right. There are active self-checkout lanes that are available for anyone to use. The guy in front of me realizes this, leaves the line, goes to self-checkout. So now I'm next in line. I still stay in my spot because I want to create a pathway for people to walk through or push their carts through if they need to pass. This lady rolls up in one of the little plug-in scooter joints, right? Yeah. Looks at the line. First, she looks at the line where I'm going. at the cashier to see how many, you know, the guy in front of me has to see if we about to go. Notices he's about to finish, looks back at me and says, can I go? Can I go in front of you? I said, no. She looked like I had slapped her or something.

01:28:29 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 3:

How many items did she have?

01:28:31 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 2:

She said, I got, this is literally, that's a great question. Because the next thing I heard most was, I only have one thing. I looked over at self-checkout. I said, they're self-checkout. And then she shifted. Why do you say wow? I think it was rude. Okay, we'll get there. Okay. She shifted it in gear. And then she didn't speed off, but as fast as they could go, went to self-checkout. I felt like an a-hole at first. But then I remembered that she looked at me as though I was just supposed to allow her to go because she, quote, unquote, had one item. And then I was like, no, you don't deserve this. You're not entitled to go before me. Go on self-checkout with your one item and allow me to go.

01:29:10 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 3:

you're totally you're totally right. Agreed. But I wouldn't have been able to do it. I wouldn't let her go. Why? Because she had one item. I don't know. I just you are right. I am telling you that. I'm looking you straight. You are right. But it's so rude. And by the way you have balls because I wish in those situations I could be like you can just go to self check out but I'm not going to do that. No.

01:29:35 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to let her go. Go ahead. You say go ahead.

01:29:37 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 3:

No problem. Isn't it

01:29:38 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

isn't what kevin did though like wrong isn't it isn't it like you don't drive slow in the left lane like that's the passing lane like what kevin did was it's supposed to be like the etiquette you see somebody with less items than you especially one item you just go hey go ahead like that's the common courtesy thing to do yeah it's kind of a yeah i think that if we're gonna do

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 6:

Am I the a-hole? I think Kev's the a-hole for not saying, hey, you only got one item. Go ahead.

01:30:04 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 5:

I don't agree. Here's why I think, yes, we all want to live in a world where we're kind and when people ask us to do things, if it's not going out of our way, sure, we'll oblige their request. I don't think that just because someone asks for something that you should have to accept it and do it. Just because she asks, I'm supposed to be, I'm supposed to say yes all of a sudden. Guess what? Their self-checkout with 15 items or less. She fits the bar with her one item. And you know what? She checked out and left before I did because it was faster with her one item to go and do what she did.

01:30:41 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 3:

I think I'm thinking all of those comments in my head, but I'm still saying, of course, go ahead in front of me.

01:30:47 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 2:

Same.

01:30:48 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 6:

And what, Kevin, you just proved was if she was able to leave before you were, it wouldn't have taken you more than a second more for her just to go ahead of you. But why am I an a-hole, though, for saying no? You're sometimes the nicest Christian-like guy, and then there are some times where you're salty as hell.

01:31:08 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 5:

But how is it not Christian and salty just to tell somebody, no, they can't go in front of you? Like, why is that a problem? I'm not trying to. I think we're conditioned.

01:31:17 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 6:

No, I think that you are, and this is, by the way, very atypical, because people will call up and go, I'm Kevin. they'll do all this stuff hey you know the show's not the same without kevin bing bing spike you know and stuff like that why they got a song like that though no no that's what they sound like i believe me in my head when i when i hear them but this is the thing kevin is the nicest human being in the world this is so not typical to hear this i'm shocked that kevin didn't buy this woman her item and just say here boom i'll put it on my tab there is a time and a place for that everything

01:31:52 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 4:

has its season was it how she approached you as well that gave you a bad taste potentially i mean her tone and how she how she asked or demanded that of you i don't want to take an easy way out and just say yes but i'm just trying because mojo's right you are that like i'm surprised you didn't just say yeah go ahead i got you yeah um i guess i just wasn't in that mood at that point

01:32:14 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 5:

like you had take you and your scooter and your one item and go to the self-checkout lane where So you can literally check out in a scooter? The woman was handicapped in a scooter. She had a cane, and she had a scooter, and she had one item.

01:32:28 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 6:

Just go to self-checkout and leave, lady. He does not know what he's doing. No, I'm not the bad guy in this situation. Hold on. Let me read you the call screen board here that Lydia just put up. Valerie, I agree with Kevin for once. For once. Hold on. Valerie, pick up Valerie for a second. You there, Valerie?

01:32:47 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, this is Valerie, a.k.a. Karen. I agree with you for once. Oh, the PTO police. For once.

01:32:55 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 6:

Look who agrees with you. Valerie. Thank you, Valerie. Valerie, a.k.a. Misfit Karen.

01:33:03 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

01:33:04 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 6:

Why do you agree with him? Why do you agree?

01:33:07 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 1:

I agree because, you know, he's a right to his opinion and being rude. Telling the truth is not being rude. I'm sorry.

01:33:15 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 2:

That's not true. And that's absolutely not true because somebody can be overweight and you could say you're overweight is still rude to say, even though it's factually accurate. That's that's not true whatsoever.

01:33:26 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 1:

That's when you're going to put your big girl panties on and deal with it.

01:33:29 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 2:

But you just said it's not rude to be truthful. It is. It isn't.

01:33:35 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 1:

That's your opinion.

01:33:37 - 01:33:37 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:33:37 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 6:

OK.

01:33:38 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 1:

Different definitions. Different definitions.

01:33:41 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 6:

Bye. OK. A.K.A. Valerie, Karen. Lisa has a question for Kevin that she would like to ask. What's up, Lisa? What's your question? Hey, Lisa.

01:33:52 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, everyone. Good morning.

01:33:54 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 5:

So, Kevin, how many people were behind you in the line? I don't know. I only look forward in life.

01:34:00 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 4:

So nobody? No.

01:34:02 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 5:

So nobody. Was there somebody behind her?

01:34:04 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 4:

It was her, and then was there somebody behind her? No, no.

01:34:06 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 5:

She was passing through.

01:34:08 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I got you. Yeah.

01:34:09 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I really don't know if there was somebody behind me. I'm going to be honest with you.

01:34:13 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, she looked at the line. and then decided to cut in front of you. So I'm thinking there were people behind you. Yes, sir. Ooh, good point.

01:34:23 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 2:

No, he's only agreeing with you because it makes his position more valid. I don't think that happened.

01:34:28 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 5:

No, we have the smartest listeners in all of radio.

01:34:32 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say we didn't. I just think you're lying.

01:34:36 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 6:

Lisa, thank you for bringing that up. Lee, what's up? Grab Lee for a second here. Lee, what did you want to say to Kevin?

01:34:41 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

um i was just saying that i bet you if the roles were reversed that that woman wouldn't have let kevin go in front of her because i i mean listen we've all witnessed grocery store

01:35:00 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 4:

disasters but if the roles were reversed and she was kicking it there waiting her turn in line and somebody walking through just asked can i go in front of you i guarantee she would have been like no i've been waiting here i'm next fair point so i don't think kevin was wrong i don't

01:35:19 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 8:

think kevin was wrong i like it lee like the way you think standing here wait my turn you can stand

01:35:25 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 7:

behind me uh lee he's gonna hold your call as the only call that's worthy in this uh tired topic uh hannah what's up hannah

01:35:35 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 2:

hannah hannah hannah what's going on hello hey i was just gonna say that people that would say kevin is an a-hole are people that are uncomfortable or haven't set boundaries for themselves and are kind of very people pleasing yeah i agree with you yeah i do agree with that

01:36:02 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 9:

but i just think it's also about just you know being kind showing some social grace saying you're an old person in a uh situation where you probably don't want to be on your feet very long because you need mobility aids i'll let you go she's not on her feet she in the scooter but you don't know if like you truly don't know like is she in pain sitting there These are too many factors. No, I know, but I think when it's an old person with one item.

01:36:29 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 8:

What if this was grandmama? First off, I didn't say the lady was old, so y'all are just projecting because I said she had a cane and she was in a scooter.

01:36:39 - 01:36:42 | Speaker 9:

No, I think it was the voice you used when you were talking like her.

01:36:43 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 8:

All I'm saying is just because somebody says no doesn't mean they're rude.

01:36:48 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 7:

No.

01:36:48 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 9:

No, and from the beginning, Shannon and I both said you're allowed to say no. We just wouldn't.

01:37:01 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 8:

All the callers said I was right, so that's all I'm concerned with.

01:37:04 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, all of them.

01:37:05 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 8:

Every single one of them. The smartest in the world. LaCretia, what's up? Don't mess this up, LaCretia. What's going on? Hello?

01:37:16 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 7:

Hey.

01:37:16 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 9:

Hi, Laja. Can you take us off speaker? Who else is in the car? I'm not on speaker. Or Bluetooth? Who's that talking?

01:37:23 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 7:

That's my co-worker.

01:37:24 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

That's my co-worker. Here we go. That's better. Thank you.

01:37:27 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. What's going on?

01:37:28 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So I totally agree with Kevin. No, because the more people he let in front of him, then I got to wait further behind him in line, and I might be tired, too.

01:37:38 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 8:

Mm, for each other.

01:37:40 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 3:

Now, he can pay for her item, and then other than that, Kevin needs to go to the back of the line. Have you been in them checkout lines? They are outrageous.

01:37:47 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 7:

you're also a heartless person thank you for the call which kroger do you shop at i'm never going to that one people are mean he's unbelievable hold on matt matt what do you think matt

01:38:05 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 6:

matt yeah what's up so hey what's up i'm with kevin on that hey good morning oh get off our phone well hey hear me out first hear me out first how pretentious do you have to be to ask somebody i agree in front of you i don't know yeah i mean i don't know i've done lines many a times with just one item and i stood there waiting my turn i mean to be honest with you if i was just about to ask somebody like hey would you cut in front of me and they were like hey i only have this one item do you mind i was like yeah actually i do mine you know i would changed my mind right there in the matter of fact it's interesting to me why she even chose

01:38:48 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 1:

the lot the line that had a line versus going to a self-checkout with nobody over there easy mark

01:38:55 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 7:

she thought she had one self-checkout though is sometimes intimidating for some people and she was an older woman but what about this texter that says what about this she was handicapped to sound like what what if what about this texter who says this is seven three four it says if she was hot, Kevin would have had no problem. Oh, he would have eaten cheesecake

01:39:16 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 1:

right out of it. We all know what he does at Kroger. I can't wait for you to come over and meet my parents. I mean, I had such a great

01:39:23 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 5:

time. Met a total loser on Bumble. And he's still not calling you back. Second date update happens at 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:39:32 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 7:

If her name was Ashley. Ashley 1, Ashley 2, or that hot girl from Grand Rapids. This guy. He would have said, and by the way, I'm not only letting you through hit me up in my dms with the other 8 000 women i've been chilling i've been

01:39:46 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 8:

lusting a little too much i got to get back with the spirit i feel convicted i'm not on that believe

01:39:50 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 7:

me believe me we're going to church this sunday you and i let's go we're gonna pray uh for cap we're gonna pray for kevin right now

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 3:

Lord, we're praying for Kevin, dear Lord and baby Jesus. We pray for his soul, for he does not know what he's doing right now. He is led astray. Where's mom at? Can we get your mom? Your mom hasn't been on the phone in a while. I want to hear your mom. I want to know what she would think of that.

01:40:18 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 4:

I do need prayer writing. Bro, I'm telling you, I've been lusting, man. I got to get out of that.

01:40:22 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 3:

Is it really? Like bad?

01:40:24 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 4:

I really feel it, bro. My For You page is looking crazy. I'm realizing why I'm hitting up certain people, even like Lydia friend who we saw at the game. Like, why am I, like, why am I really reaching out to you? It's because I'm thinking downstairs and not upstairs. I'm leading with my flesh and not my spirit and I got to get back. You know what it is?

01:40:41 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 3:

It's, it's like bear, you know, bears have mating season and deers have mating season. Like animals do. This is mating season for you.

01:40:48 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I can't leave.

01:40:49 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 3:

You need somebody to keep you warm. That's the thing. You don't have anybody keeping you warm right now.

01:40:52 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 4:

It's cuddle season. Yeah.

01:40:54 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 3:

That's it. Exactly. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan, you accidentally donated something?

01:41:03 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was close, and I felt so guilty yesterday. I was at a Goodwill Donation Center, and I...

01:41:10 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, real quick. Can you stop for one second? I don't mean to... I'm sorry. Stop for just one second, if you can. And I'm going to have you go back to the accidentally donating. We'll get to it in a second. Kev's mom is on the phone. Good morning. Kevin's mother. Hello. hey how are you you don't sound like mom how are you uh we were just talking about how kevin kevin's been led astray a little bit mom and we need to pull him back we're we're worried about

01:41:37 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 4:

him yes we are what's going on i told him man i've been i've been just living in lust man and i gotta get out of that i feel convicted man my my spirit ain't right he says that uh every he's

01:41:53 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 3:

He's got a lot of girls that have been hitting him up, and any time he's looking at these girls, he's thinking with the lower end and not the higher end. So we need to get him up to the higher end again, Mom.

01:42:03 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm going to be praying for you, Kevin.

01:42:05 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate it, Mom. Love you.

01:42:08 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:42:09 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 3:

Mom, here's a question. Mom, if you were at a store and you had one item and you were going through the checkout line and there was a nice person in front of you that had a bunch of items? Say, for instance, how many, Kevin, did you have? 20. Wouldn't you expect that that person would let this nice lady like yourself check out ahead of you?

01:42:37 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 5:

You would think.

01:42:40 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

I love mom. You are the best. Love you all. Mom, will you do me a favor? Love you too. Will you call us more often? I miss the days when you would call just randomly. You would hear something on the air that would drive you crazy or something that brought up a thought or a memory of Kevin's past. Will you call up to call him out for us, please?

01:43:03 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was instructed to kind of do the moonwalk. Wait. No, no.

01:43:11 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 1:

What?

01:43:12 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 3:

No, no. I'm talking about Becca.

01:43:14 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 5:

No, I know.

01:43:15 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 1:

Why?

01:43:16 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait. Okay, so we're taking a vote right now. I vote that Kevin's mom gets back on the air anytime she wants to. She gets an open airways to that. Shannon?

01:43:27 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 1:

I fully agree with this.

01:43:30 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Megan, hi.

01:43:31 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 1:

I love having her on. I would agree with that.

01:43:34 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay. How about you, Lydia? What are your thoughts on this one? We good with Kevin's mom? Anytime she wants to come on the air, she's got open airways?

01:43:41 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 2:

Whenever. We let Kevin's dad on whenever, so she can go. Oh, yeah.

01:43:44 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. What about you, Zach? What do you think? You okay with that? Sorry, bro. I kind of love her. She's great. What about Kevin? Kevin, what do you think? Of course. Okay. See that, Mom? This is unanimous. Congratulations. You're back on. Anytime.

01:44:03 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Love you.

01:44:05 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 3:

I love it.

01:44:06 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 5:

Okay, love you guys, too.

01:44:08 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 3:

Mom, here's the deal. Kevin needs to be celibate. When I was a young Catholic boy, during Lent, I would go the entire Lenten time without thinking about girls out of my love for my lord kevin needs to have that uh in his life right now

01:44:23 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 5:

he needs to be a little celibate for a while exactly i don't think kevin is going to do

01:44:28 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 4:

anything i think he's just talking it is he's talk i look i ain't i was about to say so i can say well i don't know what i can and can't say i haven't um done anything since about july last year yeah right for sure so it is the celibacy at the problem it's the spirit and the mind that's trying to make the flesh go off.

01:44:49 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, you got to get on your knees and pray more. What you laughing at, Mojo?

01:44:55 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

I know. I'm just, no, I'm just, I love your mom. I'm just telling you, seriously.

01:45:00 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

You and I will talk after the show, okay? I'll talk to you later. I love you. Bye-bye. I love you. All right. Take care of yourself. All right. Megan, now back to you. Hi, Megan. No, no. I love that. Mojo just had one item. You needed to go. I'm sorry. Thank you, Megan, for letting me go to the front of the line on that one right there. All good. I love it. By the way, isn't it interesting how Kevin was told her to do the moonwalk and told her that she couldn't call up the show? I probably did. She probably said something I ain't like. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Megan, you almost accidentally donated something to Goodwill?

01:45:39 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I had two boxes that I was dropping off at Goodwill, and I had taken a trip down to Toledo. I spent the holidays, really, most of our breakdown in Toledo with my friends and my family, and I'm very grateful for my brother because I keep a lot of my stuff at his house. So, like, I have a blow dryer just at my brother's house. I don't have to pack a lot of things. I can just, like, get up and go. But the one thing I take back and forth with me is my curling iron. And it is, I'm not going to lie, a very expensive curling iron. I feel like the one thing I spend money on is hot tools every once in a while. They last, like, 10 years, and they're kind of expensive. That's a couple hundred bucks. Yeah, they're kind of expensive. And I misplaced my curling iron, and I have been so angry. I went to my dad's apartment. I dug through the whole place. I'm like, maybe I left it there. I went to my brother's house, dug through the whole place. I went through their cars. I could not find it anywhere. So yesterday, I'm at Goodwill and I'm donating these boxes. And as I'm handing a box over to the guy, again, it's like, what, negative 10 degrees yesterday. As I'm handing this box over, I go, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, because I see this black cord hanging out of this box. And I know that is my expensive curling iron. So he puts the box down and I'm digging through this. I'm throwing clothes, purses, you know, toys everywhere and i reached down in the bottom of the box i have no idea how i got there it is my curling iron but i feel i felt so guilty handing this box off of donations and then going hold on not everything yeah you don't get this and i i was just so grateful that i had caught it but wondering uh what did people donate and maybe that they didn't catch or did you ever feel guilty

01:47:19 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 1:

saying oh wait not that or have you ever had to pay to get it back like what do they what happens if you would have donated that and you would have put that in the box and then you had to come back a day later they probably wouldn't believe you would they no megan have you been donating all your old clothes because i've been donating a bunch of old clothes and i'm telling you i know i've left five ten dollars in a pocket or two so i was really grateful my brother and i went through

01:47:45 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 2:

all of the clothes and he was on pocket search and i was on pile duties of the keep and get rid of and then he went through all the get rid of stuff can i tell you a story you guys yeah so i donate

01:47:55 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 1:

to the salvation army uh and the one by my house i always donate and there's a guy that fields it in the back of the place like you they're standing out there on the the dock or whatever and i put the bags up on top for the guy the guy is about what my size was he's a bigger dude okay and so i would say to him hey man i said hey i got a couple of things inside there that honestly i maybe wore a couple of times and and they would fit you you should get them and take them so the guy's like really what do you got and he would take them out of the thing and i would give him he got fired shut up oh are you kidding me then the last time i went over to the salvation army i said hey where's the guy they said oh he's been taking things i go taking what things we caught him on video taking items of her donation wait I told him he could take things out of my bag I just want them used

01:48:48 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 3:

and also fair game to me if you're volunteering your services seriously

01:48:53 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 1:

my goal is I want somebody to use them I don't want I don't care if they make a dime or two

01:48:59 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 3:

I donate to the same place all the time and if they were taking stuff before they took it like I don't know and I know it's all volunteers that work at this particular place. So to me, I'm like, I accidentally donate your hat.

01:49:13 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 1:

Accidentally, yeah, okay.

01:49:14 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

You know it was accidental because then I went and bought one. I wanted it back. But yeah, I mean, that does happen.

01:49:21 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500. I want to know a 586. Listen to this one, 586. Megan, I donated three things in the last year. All of them accidentally donated, could never get them back because they didn't know where they were. I wonder, do they keep all the items at the same place? Like the place that you donate, Megan, do they sell it right there or what do they do with it? I'm not sure.

01:49:47 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I feel like they also probably get rid of a bunch of stuff. Like I bet a lot of stuff that's donated should just be trash.

01:49:55 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:49:55 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean?

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

People just want to get rid of it. What happened to you, Joanne?

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show. Thanks for calling.

01:50:02 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Mojo. Hey. So I donated a purse that had photos in it from Glamour Magazine. I was in Glamour Magazine in 1984, and I wanted to make copies. I wanted to make copies for my husband because I won, like, a great face contest, and he wanted pictures of it. So he wanted a big picture of it. So I was going to go and have it made, forgot they were in my purse, donated the purse, and couldn't get them back. They were the only copies I had of the photo shoot.

01:50:35 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if you can archive Look Up that magazine because that's a long time ago.

01:50:41 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 5:

Right. It was, like, just before they started doing that, I guess.

01:50:45 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. Well, that sucks.

01:50:46 - 01:50:47 | Unknown:

That's horrible.

01:50:47 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 3:

At least it wasn't what John had. John, what did you accidentally donate, John?

01:50:53 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 4:

It was a food drive for school, and they say get canned goods. And so I said, my mom said, go to the cupboard, get whatever you want. Got the canned peas and some other stuff. Well, the peas were actually container-holding jewelry. So it was like a diamond bracelet and necklace. And someone had a great holiday, I guess. And they didn't figure it out until it was gone. Never thought to look.

01:51:16 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 3:

How much money are we talking about in jewelry was donated by accident?

01:51:22 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I was a kid, but my parents weren't very happy, and they still talk about it today. but it was still a diamond bracelet. I know they always talk about the diamond bracelet, so it's still a diamond bracelet.

01:51:31 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 3:

What a story. I think I would honestly at that point be so disappointed I wanted my beans. I was like, why am I opening up some guy's jewelry here or some woman's jewelry? Kelly, same situation. Megan, thank God it was just a curling iron. What happened to you, Kelly?

01:51:48 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 6:

I donated my wedding ring and my husband's wedding ring. Oh, no. Hit it in my robe pocket because I was going out of town. And then a couple, like, I don't know, weeks later, I donated the robe and didn't realize it for about a month. I went to every place trying to find it again, but never did find it.

01:52:11 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. You put it in a robe. Were you guys fighting with each other and that's why you had it in the robe?

01:52:16 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 6:

No, we were divorced and I had moved into a new home and I wasn't familiar with the area and I was going out of town. So I thought, well, I'm just going to stick it in this robe pocket. And then next thing you know, I went looking for the ring. And I realized that I had stuck it in this robe pocket and donated it.

01:52:36 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 3:

It's like a homemade safe. You put it in. That's interesting. So you put your valuables in pockets of clothes. That's interesting.

01:52:44 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 6:

Well, I've learned my lesson.

01:52:46 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

01:52:48 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 6:

Don't do that anymore.

01:52:50 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Take care of yourself. God, it's amazing how many people, money, same situation. 313 says, I had $10,000 in cash that I put in an old suit pocket that ended up getting donated.

01:53:08 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 2:

How do you have that much cash, period?

01:53:10 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, a lot of times people were just keeping or keep the cash at the home instead of putting it in the bank because they maybe work with cash.

01:53:17 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 2:

That's a lot of money to not know its location.

01:53:19 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 3:

enough well no you put it like just that last collar that's your safe that's your homemade safe that you uh you put it in uh now i'm gonna start going through the pockets of uh people's pants at uh at the salvation army now that they're looking for a guy at the salvation army that i

01:53:36 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 2:

go for can you believe they fired that guy that's terrible explain that again that is terrible the

01:53:42 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

guy i was giving him my clothes i was telling him to take them and they said that he the guy they fired him because he was taking clothes. They worked in the Salvation Army. Give him the clothes.

01:53:50 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 2:

They were donated. They probably didn't believe him, though. Well, who cares? I'm going to say, if you see a guy at work taking clothes, that looks like stealing. If you ask him what happened and he says, oh, the guy told me I could take him, they probably didn't believe him. They probably thought he was stealing.

01:54:04 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 3:

I feel bad, and I should probably go in there and say something. I said something to the guy that I pulled up.

01:54:09 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 2:

That's the purpose.

01:54:10 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. Just as long as they're getting used. You can't just take them, though. Alright, Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:16 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:54:19 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 3:

Second date update. Why are you not getting a call back? If you ever are faced with this, maybe you go on a date or two, and then you don't hear from them anymore, text DATE to 95500, standard tax and data rates do apply, and we will call you up and get you on the show. Noah is on with us right now. Noah, how long have you guys been talking to each other, Noah?

01:54:41 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, Mojo. You know, we've known each other through mutual friends for a while now. We went out on a couple of dates over the last month or six weeks. And, you know, things were going really well. I think she was, like, very into me, the way she was texting.

01:55:00 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 5:

texting me, you know, when you just know that someone's interested. But then it just kind of fell away and I'm trying to figure out what happened, put the pieces together.

01:55:10 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 4:

Have you guys hooked up at all?

01:55:13 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 5:

We actually have hooked up.

01:55:15 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So you guys have gotten together enough where you guys have hooked up with each other. Now she's not calling you back. You want to know what's going on. Pamela's on the phone with us right now. Pamela, what's going on? And will you say hi to Noah for us?

01:55:32 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:55:34 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you?

01:55:36 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. How are you?

01:55:40 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm good.

01:55:41 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm good.

01:55:42 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 5:

This is interesting.

01:55:44 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 4:

Actually, no, you're not good. Noah, tell her what's going on. Tell her what you've been thinking.

01:55:51 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 5:

I guess I'm just curious what happened because I feel like after the last date we had that things were going really well. You seemed interested, and we were texting, but then you kind of stopped responding and sort of ghosted me.

01:56:07 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 3:

Um, I mean, yeah, that's accurate, I guess.

01:56:14 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 5:

Why? Yeah, I knew I wasn't making it up.

01:56:16 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 3:

Why'd you stop? Um, well, things are good until they weren't. And, uh, yeah. yeah and and what does that mean exactly okay well um so noah and i right or you know he and i have been hooking up and then we thought well maybe we should start dating and then once that happened we like kind of flipped the friends with benefits stuff he uh said to me you know that he oh god his last girlfriend they broke up you know the reason they broke up and i was just like uh i don't want to be with a guy like that what was the reason that they broke up um he said that he cheated on her okay and he like came clean with that information well he was he was like i just want to be open and honest and um i don't want this to be like my other relationships we just kept keeping secrets together and i was like okay well like what and he was like well i just think you should know um that i cheated on my last girlfriend but don't worry like i'm a changed man and it's like how many guys have said that all of them

01:57:34 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 4:

so he's getting dinged for being honest with you and and telling you the the truth about uh It's something bad that happened?

01:57:45 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, I wouldn't call it punishment, but it's like you've already told me that you're a cheater. So now I know.

01:57:57 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 4:

Once a cheater, always a cheater?

01:58:00 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:58:01 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 5:

That's great. That's not fair to me to say because I did that in good faith. You know, I was trying to be honest with you.

01:58:08 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

You did what in good faith? Cheat?

01:58:11 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, no. i i was that's rude i was honest with you and i and i wanted you know that was over two years ago and i have changed and i wanted to tell you the truth up front and i thought i was doing a good

01:58:27 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 3:

thing but i guess that's not true and well why are you what makes you think that you've changed

01:58:33 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 4:

how do you know how do you know first off no have you you have changed you said

01:58:42 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 5:

you have not cheated since then yeah absolutely i mean that was something that i i regretted in the past we you know besides the cheating there was a lot of issues in that relationship okay so i just wanted to start this one out with honesty and the truth and i thought that that was the right thing to do and i didn't think that like you said i would be punished for you know kind of yeah being honest i have to really applaud you putting it all on the table

01:59:10 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 4:

if i could ask a quick question pamela have you been in a relationship where you've been cheated

01:59:14 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 2:

on before absolutely okay but i i i get where she's coming from though too i i i'm sorry that he had issues in his past relationships and i'm sorry that that led him to cheat i i commend him for being open and honest about it. But I don't think being open and honest about it means that you just get a pass for it affecting all of your future relationships. If people don't want to be with somebody who has cheated before and you give them that information from the get-go, I understand them leaving and saying, listen, you have shown that you are capable of making those decisions and I don't want to get involved with somebody who's made them before. She's allowed to say that.

01:59:53 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 4:

And be a liar, Noah. And I don't agree with that.

01:59:58 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't think you should not admit it.

02:00:00 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 1:

Because then if we start a relationship and I find that out later, then I'm really not going to trust you.

02:00:06 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 2:

But I agree with you there. But somebody's allowed to say, cool, thank you for being honest. And somebody's allowed to say, thank you for being honest. I'm not looking to move forward with you. The bills are acceptable.

02:00:15 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I'd love to know what your thoughts are. Did Noah, was he a fool for bringing this up?

02:00:24 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I don't think he was a fool for bringing it up. The only reason I would agree that he was a fool is based on her reactions. If it goes a month or a year, and obviously nothing was wrong with Noah outside of this, which is why she was in a physical relationship and was considering moving it more to something serious, emotional, and considered dating him and moving into, you know, like boyfriend and girlfriend or whatever they call it. And this is the only thing. If it would continue for a year and she fell in love with him and then it came up, would it be a problem? Would you just throw him away because, quote, unquote, once a cheater, always a cheater?

02:00:53 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 1:

And remember, this is not like he said it on their first or second date. They've known each other for a very long time. Yeah, the only reason she's not talking to them is because he cheated with somebody else.

02:01:03 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:01:03 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 5:

So she knows what kind of heart this guy has other than that one time she doesn't approve of it. And that's why she's making him pay.

02:01:10 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's not fully invested in, like, they've been dating for a year.

02:01:14 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 5:

Rachel, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. what are your thoughts on Pamela telling Noah she doesn't want another date because he admitted to cheating in his past Rachel

02:01:28 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 3:

oh hi I agree with Megan for usual I think that women are allowed to set boundaries and have certain standards and the only way you can recover from like having a cheating phase or anything like that is when you're in high school and those relationships just don't really matter but as an adult if you're capable of doing something like that you're going to keep doing it people don't

02:01:50 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 5:

change so it's okay to cheat just cheat when you're in high school because relationships don't matter i i that makes no sense i hate to say it and i and i and i hate to say that all you're doing is you're making people not ever want to be truthful with you people make mistakes in their past we all have and if you're getting judged off of your mistakes i think that the guy seems like you know, he's learned from his lesson and we also don't know what that relationship was like. But Alyssa, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts? Hi, Alyssa. What's going on? It's a second date update. Alyssa. I don't think she's there anymore. She's not. Justin, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts? What's going on? Hi, Justin.

02:02:36 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. First time

02:02:37 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 6:

long time. Hey, Justin.

02:02:40 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 5:

Justin. Justin, our phone lines this week have been kind of crazy. People can't hear us at the beginning. When I picked up the phone line, you couldn't tell I picked up the phone line for you?

02:02:50 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

No, I can hear you right away. Okay, good. All right, go ahead.

02:02:53 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

02:02:55 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 4:

Hey, for my guy, it's experience like that. You live and you learn, you know? You might know the hurt you caused someone going through that experience. You move forward in the future. You don't make that same mistake.

02:03:10 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 5:

So just move on, and should he ever tell another girl, though, that he's done what he's done in the past? Or should he learn from this lesson that it could come back and bite him in the ass?

02:03:20 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 2:

But with that logic, then, it's everybody who's ever cheated has only ever cheated once because they learned the hurt, and they never did it again, and they moved on. And I think a lot of people know that that's not always the case.

02:03:32 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 5:

So, Megan, then, should people who cheat never be able to be in another relationship ever again?

02:03:36 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 2:

No, I didn't say that at all. I just understand why some people say I'm not interested in dating somebody who's cheated before.

02:03:43 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 6:

But if you never cheated before, it doesn't mean that you won't cheat in your current relationship. That's correct. It doesn't completely absolve you of getting cheated on.

02:03:50 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm not saying that it does. I just said that you can prove that you're capable of doing it by doing it in the past.

02:03:55 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 1:

I think, Noah, you absolutely did the right thing by coming clean with that information. But I think you also have to be prepared. Obviously, whatever you had with Pam is not going to move any further. But I think you have to be prepared for in the future when you do share that information, you know, the risk. Right. And and any woman who is dating you is allowed to do what she wants with that information. But I don't think that you stop sharing because of this. I think that's really important. It's an important piece of your story.

02:04:26 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I appreciate that.

02:04:28 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 6:

Keep doing you, bro. She ain't ready for you.

02:04:31 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 1:

And there's nothing wrong to Megan's point. There's nothing wrong with her saying it's just not for me.

02:04:35 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 2:

but i think i would have appreciated it i think both of them are in the right

02:04:39 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 5:

i think the sad part is though if it was that they just met and this happened but they known each other for a while right she knows what kind of guy he is so much that she gave him a chance to go on a date and she's going to judge him off of something that happened in his past i don't know i think that's dating that's where it's wrong uh well i think

02:05:00 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 4:

I think that it's more so that you just meet and then you find something out. But if you know a person and have been friends with him for a while, enough to now say we're going to take that friendship to a dating level. I don't know. I think she's being a little too judgy. Second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning.

02:05:15 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. And more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:05:23 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to give you a shot at sold out Tate McCrae tickets. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller, you have a shot to win those tickets right now. This show is sold out. It's in August, and it's happening when the weather is not 28,000 degrees below zero.

02:05:44 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:05:47 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 4:

Let's get caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. By the way, current temperature right now, real field temperature, is minus 19 degrees in our listening area. Minus 19.

02:05:59 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 1:

That windchill. It's the windchill that's doing it.

02:06:03 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it is so cold.

02:06:05 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 1:

All right, so these dang streaming services, I swear, Netflix is now raising the price of its standard ad-free plan for the first time in three years. Free? I know, I feel like they just did two. I feel like they just did. The official thing I'm getting, it says three years, but the company announced it's going to be, quote unquote, adjusting prices. I love how they say that, adjusting prices. On most of its plans within the U.S. and Canada, those changes amount to a monthly hike of $1 to $2.50, depending on the plan. So the ad-supported plan will now cost $7.99 a month, up from $6.99. The standard plan, $17.99 a month. The premium plan will cost you $24.99 a month, up from $22.99. The cost for an extra member on an existing account will also be going up by a buck to $8.99 a month.

02:06:53 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 4:

They're buying too many things like they want to buy, you know, Tyson fights, that Tyson Jake Paul fight where they set a record with the amount of people streaming. And they did the football games over Christmas. You know, they have that. And I think what's happening is they need more money to buy more of these events that are bringing them a lot of money. they're screwing the average person that went to netflix for not that but for just streaming now they want to become a cable service and i think that netflix is taking it out on the

02:07:25 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 1:

customer that loved them for what they loved them for yeah i mean another one doing this is prime amazon if i have to pay for one more dang movie on amazon prime i'm like i'm already paying for

02:07:36 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 4:

the service i i recommend this to you and i really do think that this is the thing i think that we

02:07:41 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 5:

all need to go back to cable i'm with you streaming services cancel them all the only way it changes is if people actually cancel them all i canceled all streaming services i will not rent movies on

02:07:53 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 3:

prime i will not buy them what's good though like what are y'all watching on regular tv youtube and

02:07:58 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 5:

get a hobby i listen i read more i play more games i have been reading a ton i know there are other things to do than watch television, and until we change our behaviors, this purging of our money will not change. But for the people like

02:08:12 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Shannon and Mojo who say go back to cable, like where are y'all really watching on cable?

02:08:16 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't think you mean... I don't know. Somebody said

02:08:20 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 4:

that if TikTok were to have gone away or maybe does go away in 70 some days, some people said that the streaming services were the ones that were going to bank in on this. It wasn't even another social media platform. It was just that people were going to look for other forms of entertainment, and now they've got to be careful because being able just to watch to me a two minute video or a minute and a half video is better than watching a full-on show yeah i think it keeps me entertained long enough yeah that's why radio is the best we're not charging you we're we're free freaking men the free iHeart

02:08:52 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

radio app you can listen to podcasts 24 hours a day 70s week justin bieber had fans kind of scratching their heads going is his marriage to hayley over based on the the unfollow that happened in the early morning hours um here's the deal he hopped on his instagram story yesterday afternoon and wrote someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife spit is getting sus out here so all is good and then he was posting pictures of her later in the day one of the people he unfollowed in the past couple of weeks by the way is ariana grande Ariana Grande in the dirty for liking an Instagram post that threw shade at Carrie Underwood's performance at Donald Trump's inauguration. The internet went wild about this like. The post, and Megan, you can help me explain this because it has to do with drag race and you're a drag race fan, but the post showed Kamala Harris's expression behind Carrie as she sang America at the beautiful acapella after there was that technical glitch. And the caption was a reference.

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 2:

to Kamala evoking one of RuPaul's Drag Race All-Stars.

02:10:05 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 1:

So, essentially, Ariana Grande has been a judge on Drag Race now twice. She's very into the whole, like, show, right? Not only has she been on part of it a couple of times, she tweets about it all the time. She posts memes from it all the time. We love to see it. So, this meme itself was circulating on Drag Race, like, internet holes. I know that's a weird way of saying it, but anywhere where Drag Race fans are, They do this thing on Drag Race where every season they start with a talent show. And Coco Montrese has this iconic line where it says, find the note, girl, find the note, when one of the queens was singing live, and it was really, really bad. So somebody posted the Carrie Underwood clip of her singing at the inauguration with the caption, find the note, girl, find the note, which is what she liked. It's this big, long Drag Race joke kind of bringing her down, saying you're doing a really terrible job of singing live. Yeah.

02:10:56 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

I think the circumstances, though, for Carrie Underwood was that she thought the music was going to be there. The music wasn't there. And that, I don't know. You got to be careful sometimes what you like.

02:11:05 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 2:

And correct me if I'm wrong. And I had the song Dangerous Woman on there. I kind of want to, if you can put it back up there. But wasn't there, was there some, there was like a little tiff in the past between Ari and Carrie Underwood already with this song. A tiff, you say?

02:11:20 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, Dangerous Woman was supposed to be Carrie Underwood. And Ariana Grande She liked it And said I'm gonna take that Rewrote it And made her own So there's already A little bit of a riff Because this was supposed To be Carrie Underwood's song Isn't that crazy?

02:11:34 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 2:

Did you know that, Kat?

02:11:35 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 3:

Interesting No, I did not know that

02:11:36 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

So there's a little bit Of a history there Anyway I'm so enlightened

02:11:40 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

I don't think Carrie Underwood Could have made this song

02:11:43 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 2:

Ariana went crazy on this Oh, see, I could totally hear this As a country song Oh, for sure The chorus Yes For sure The chorus Yeah, absolutely Yeah Instagram and Facebook users claim their accounts have automatically followed Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, Melania Trump after Monday's inauguration. People were freaking out about this. Across social media, users were complaining and sounding off that Mehta was forcing them to follow the president and our new first lady. Well, if you were experiencing this, here's the story. And it's a very simple explanation if you have not already figured this out. The accounts that users reported following, that they said that they didn't follow, were not the personal accounts of Trump, Vance, and Melania. Simply, they were the official POTUS, VP, and FLOTUS accounts. So those change based on whomever the incoming administration is. They change automatically. So if you were, you know, Kev following POTUS when it was Joe Biden on Monday, it changed to an account for Donald Trump automatically. That account changed. And then Joe Biden now goes back to getting his other account. So it wasn't aimed at getting people to follow the Trumps and J.D. Vance. It was simply those accounts now have been repositioned for the current administration, which is interesting to me. And lastly, JetBlue now accepting Venmo payments for flights. And people are saying this is going to become a thing for other airlines to hop on board. Venmo payment options are now available on JetBlue's website, and they're going to roll it out in their mobile app in the coming months. So you can purchase flights through your Venmo balance or your linked bank accounts, debit cards, and credit cards. I kind of love that. It makes it super easy. Cool. Cool. Cool. For all of today's Dirty, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

Talking to Annabelle is like working on our phone lines this week.

02:15:05 - 02:15:05 | Unknown:

No.

02:15:07 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 1:

I feel like I'm waiting eight hours. No, no, no. That's okay. I feel like, honestly, I feel like I need to do a hard reset on my phone. So, all right. Hold on one second, okay? Stay my. Coming up, five lies. Tell your mom was a great one. Horny Henry coming up here in just a little bit. the 11-year-old that we're accusing of using grandma's credit card on a porn site. Hear that five lies coming up in just a matter of moments. Tomorrow, War of the Roses. Be listening tomorrow, 7 and 9 o'clock, when we bust a cheater with the War of the Roses. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Hold on, Shannon. We've talked before about, you know, your driving. Was this you? Almost drove through the window? Yes.

02:15:55 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Um, I was at the dry cleaners the other day and I was getting ready. So the dry cleaners that I go to shout out to Wesh cleaners. Um, they have diagonal parking in front of the, like the dry cleaner in front of the location. And so I was parked there. I had ran in, I dropped off all my stuff, come back out to the car. Lucy's in the front seat next to me. And, um, I go to back out of my spot to get back onto the main road. Now, mind you, I drive a GMC Acadia and this car has confused me i love it but it has confused me since the day i got it because on all of my other vehicles the lever on my right side was for my windshield wipers okay and on the acadia that's how you get into reverse drive park is this right lever so it's there's no like center council stick no there's none of that you do it with this particular lever and it has taken me a really long time to get used to that's how my camera was yeah it's just different yeah it's so it's snowing I'm trying to back out and I I went to go like hit my windshield wiper and I don't know in my head I'm like also going this is also the lever to go in reverse but I hit the windshield what I thought was the windshield wiper lever to go up and if you push this little lever towards you and up, you go in reverse. If you do it forward and down, it puts you in drive. So essentially I had put it in drive thinking I was flipping up my windshield wiper, gassed my car and almost went through the front window of Wesh Cleaners. Thank you, Jesus Christ in heaven that the Acadia has this like emergency brake system thing on it that if there's something in front of you, it breaks. No, it just breaks for you. It breaks really hard. That saved me from going through the window and poor lucy screaming i started screaming and after it was done and we were fine we were back out on the road i said the crazy part is my mom so her nama i'm like when when my mom was little she actually went through the front window of the allen park dry cleaners doing the same thing trying to put her car in reverse and she accidentally gassed it and went forward instead.

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Too funny.

02:18:10 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Too funny.

02:18:12 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 1:

A drive-through. A dry cleaner. A dry cleaner front window.

02:18:15 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Exactly the same thing.

02:18:16 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

It's a rite of passage. What happens if you do drive-through the dry cleaner? Do they make you...

02:18:24 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

I think I'm in a lot of trouble. My mom said she could still remember people jumping up on the counter to get out of the way.

02:18:28 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. That's scary. By the way, I need a new dry cleaner. I feel like COVID killed all my dry cleaners by my house. Oh, I love which. Like, all the dry cleaners went out of business. It's a nice one by Wayne State. It's funny that you bring this up. All my dry cleaners in the West Bloomfield area, it seemed like they all went out of business. But has anybody driven through a store? Has anybody ever had that happen to them where they accidentally drove through the store?

02:18:53 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 3:

You thought you were going in reverse and instead you went forward.

02:18:56 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't me. This is another example of why Brian Moran should not be selling the vehicles.

02:19:01 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, I hope he does not.

02:19:03 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 1:

He's got to sell you bubble wrap to put around these vehicles there.

02:19:06 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 2:

man it wasn't me but maybe a couple of months ago when I was still living out in West Bloomfield by you Mojo 14 at Hagerty it's a Kroger I'm going into Kroger park my car I see like I'm walking straight I see all these people standing outside of their car looking in the same direction like what the hell these people looking at I look over there I see ambulance trucks I see a fire truck some lady literally drove through a dentist's office and all you can see was like the back rear lights like she went through that boy glass everywhere i was like lord i had to take a

02:19:37 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 1:

picture though i was like what's going on in here yeah i i also uh uh sometimes think to myself that would be fun to drive through like wouldn't it be fun to drive if you can drive through any if i

02:19:48 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 2:

could drive through anything i want to drive through a bank yeah yeah they would think that

02:19:52 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

was intentional i drove through my garage the front of my garage but it was with uh chelsea had a Volkswagen bug. Yeah.

02:20:00 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 2:

And it was a stick shift. And I didn't realize that on the Volkswagen, it was a manual, which I don't know. Can anybody on this show drive a manual besides me? You can, Megan?

02:20:11 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 6:

That's good, by the way. My girl and I drove a manual.

02:20:14 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You had the manual Jeep, right? The big Jeep.

02:20:17 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 6:

I prefer driving a manual. I think it should be a requirement for all 16-year-olds. You cannot text and drive.

02:20:22 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea's dad said the same exact thing with her. He bought her that so that she wouldn't get a phone and be on the phone. But it has the difference. Reverse is usually up and to the left. And on the Volkswagen, it was different. So it was a totally different area. And I put it in to go into reverse, thinking I was backing out of the garage. And I ended up hitting the front of my garage.

02:20:45 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 1:

See, I think those things should be the same on all cars. Because that's how I got so confused in the moment. I thought I was doing the windshield wiper. For sure. I don't know. For sure.

02:20:53 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 2:

The damn Germans. What's going on? Help me with your name. Who is this? on line number one. Najla. Hello, Najla.

02:21:03 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you? Najla.

02:21:06 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Hi, Najla. Hello.

02:21:09 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 5:

How are you? So I was telling her, I have a story of driving through the window. My son owns a smoke shop on Seven Mile, and last March, around St. Patrick's Day, he was just sitting in a school a couple feet away from the window, and then an old lady ran right through his front window, shattered two of the big windows in his store, and literally, by the time the truck stopped, he was about, like, two feet or less from the front end. Wow. Oh, jeez. Wow. Was she high or something? No, her purse was under her feet, she said, and she pressed on the gas, and her foot got stuck in her purse, and she just rammed it through.

02:21:52 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

They say that that's a common thing. Women who put their purses should never put their purses underneath their feet. Why would you do that?

02:22:00 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. No, no, no.

02:22:02 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 2:

And things will roll out of your purse. A lot of times you put it there.

02:22:05 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, I've had things roll from my back seat under my driver's seat. Water bottles. Yeah.

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call, Najla.

02:22:14 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you did?

02:22:17 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 2:

What's his TikTok? We'll follow him.

02:22:21 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 5:

It's either Mikey Ahmed or iCloud Hoopa.

02:22:25 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I caught hookah. Thank you for the call.

02:22:28 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's nuts. Thank you. Have a good day, guys.

02:22:32 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 2:

Two. Hannah drove into a restaurant. What restaurant, Hannah?

02:22:38 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 6:

I don't think we have it anymore.

02:22:40 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 2:

Hannah, thank you for hanging up. Tina. Do we know what restaurant?

02:22:43 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 6:

I know. Do you know?

02:22:46 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 2:

Tina drove through a flower shop. Tina. Hi, Tina.

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning.

02:22:54 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 2:

What flower shop?

02:22:55 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 3:

So I actually didn't, I wasn't the one that drove through the window. I was in college working at the flower shop when the car drove through the window. How terrifying is that? Did they get a dozen roses for free?

02:23:09 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 2:

Was it rosesbloom.com?

02:23:12 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 3:

No, no, it was a local flower shop here in the area. But I had been right by the front window doing something and then moved right before the car smashed through the window. So it was like an explosion of glass everywhere.

02:23:24 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 2:

Lucky you though for moving. If I drove through for comedic value, I'd get out of the car and say, hi, I'm here to pick up. You know what I mean? Wouldn't you just keep going? Hailing on. Be scared as hell. That's nuts. It's nuts. You should have given us some big flowers. Right. Yeah. Jessica was working at a FedEx store. And what happened? Jessica, hi. How are you?

02:23:52 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Yeah, it's actually, it happened twice at FedEx when I was working there, but it's like a printing store, and so thankfully nobody was in the way, but it always seems to be older people, and she, I assume, actually pressed gas instead of the brake. She actually went right through it, and all the glass shattered, and it sounded so loud, we all ducked.

02:24:14 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

It's actually older people and women who drive white GMC Acadias.

02:24:19 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I didn't go through it.

02:24:22 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Am I right in saying that?

02:24:24 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I work at SBS Vision now in Toledo, and we actually not long ago had a younger girl in a Jeep. It was raining, and it came right up, and it hit the beam part of it, so it knocked some bricks off. Thankfully, it wasn't through our window. I saw that. Yeah, it's happened quite often when I worked.

02:24:43 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 6:

Dude, there was, okay, the Speedway, Sylvania and Talmadge had a car go through it too, right? I think I drove by it the other day. Oh, yeah, I think so. Yes, and there's the house. There's a course over by Ernest Brewers that's been hit by two or three cars.

02:24:56 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Here's the deal, though. At the SBS Vision, you can understand it.

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 1:

The poor lady needed glasses. She was trying to figure out how to get it. Sell them to her.

02:25:04 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right.

02:25:05 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank you for the call.

02:25:09 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 2:

And before you. look at your grandson in a bad light. This is five lies to tell your mom. Wait. By the way, that is definitely not Henry because that doesn't sound like an 11-year-old. Who is that in the background?

02:30:20 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 3:

That's my grandson. He's a five-year-old.

02:30:23 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:30:24 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 3:

That I was going to keep away from Henry for a while.

02:30:27 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, Mom. Mom, hide your credit cards. I bet you that you're right away running to find out where your purse is.

02:30:37 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 5:

No, but actually I was thinking because Jamie and Henry do live with me now and I've done the teenage years, that Henry is getting to that age. Do I need to start hiding my purse again?

02:30:45 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 1:

I think so. Let's put a lock on that phone of his and make sure he's not going on any crazy sites.

02:30:52 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my heart cannot take it. Did he tell you how old I am? You guys just ate shit.

02:30:58 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 1:

Listen, you're a youngster. You're 50, she said, and she wanted to wish you all the love in the world.

02:31:06 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she does.

02:31:09 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 1:

Mom, congratulations. We got a prize for you for five lives. Tell your mom.

02:31:14 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 3:

When you get the hell out of Dodge, we got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning. Listen to 730 to get in on Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:41 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. The text is 95500 to get through to us. I saw this. I thought that this was actually kind of interesting. And you'll have to tell me if you find this to be truthful in your relationship. Do you ever consider how when you have sex with somebody, your partner, your spouse, how many times your sex is actual long sex or short sex and what i mean by that is how many times do you guys have a sexual you know encounter that turns out to be a uh you know longer period of time uh where there's a lot of foreplay and there's a lot to it maybe even post play too and how many times is it just a quickie and also have you ever considered to yourself what is the time limit on a quickie how quick is a quickie i would like to get into a little bit of a discussion on this one because i do have a uh you know a question to ask i want to know the time limit because it seems like sex with me is always a quickie you know what i mean uh i'm not gonna you know be i'm not gonna be the guy that's gonna brag and sit there and say yes having sex with me is wonderful and you're going to have a long uh time i me love me long time not long time um but um so how quick would you say a quickie is and also how long do you think that the average sexual escapade is in your do you have facts on this or you're asking for opinion i'm asking for opinion okay i'll be quite honest with you i don't know like to me i used i used to always think that when people were having sex they were having it way longer than me and then i'll have conversations with guy friends of mine and the guy friends of mine that uh will talk to me about it they'll be like yeah it's you know like we have sex it's like five minutes you know from start to finish and i go from start to finish what starts it and they're like

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 4:

Like, taking my pants off. You know what I mean? Like, it's not like it's a long occasion, you know?

02:35:06 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 5:

So, to me, a quickie would be no foreplay under five minutes. Quickie. Like, you are in a circumstance where either, like, children are going to come in or you don't have that much time or whatever. And that would be a quickie to me.

02:35:21 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 3:

Are we finishing? Yes. Or is this just the act?

02:35:24 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 2:

No. Quickie is, it's all-inclusive. All-inclusive. Okay, for sure. Yeah, I'd say I'd say I'd give you about that. Give you about a good five, six. What would you say, Mojo?

02:35:36 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 4:

For a quickie, I think a quickie is less than five minutes. Yeah, it's like, you know, that's a quickie.

02:35:43 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:35:43 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 4:

I think that, first off, when I hear people say this to me, that they have sex, and they'll say, yeah, we were having sex for hours. I'm like, you were stopping in between, right?

02:35:56 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 5:

Or you had sex multiple times.

02:35:59 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you had sex multiple times.

02:36:00 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 5:

That's not one session.

02:36:02 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

No, there's no way. And if you are somebody that sits there and goes, oh, man, I go all night long. I'm like, well, you're also a liar, too.

02:36:12 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 5:

And you're also not a girl because you get sore.

02:36:15 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, first off, is there a woman that wants to have sex for hours? Honestly?

02:36:21 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I would not want to have sex for hours if it happened a couple of times over like a night, yes. But I don't want to be in the act for hours. That does not sound nice to me.

02:36:35 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 3:

But when you factor in, though, that foreplay element where, you know, there's more touching going on, it's a more sensual experience, that can take a longer time. That can lead up to that physical experience.

02:36:51 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 5:

so to speak i'm not a huge person you're not like you never had a little i didn't say i don't like like i don't do it i that is and i say that on behalf of both of us we're just trying to get

02:37:04 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 4:

straight to it not yeah yeah shannon uh when you say you don't like foreplay i didn't say i didn't well i guess i did but it's do you consider foreplay like to me foreplay is also just us in bed talking to each other like it's not just us you know see i don't consider that foreplay really i consider i consider for i consider foreplay is getting a little early cuddle like you know in in you know you know kind of like uh heavy petting i mean i don't like

02:37:35 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 5:

good foreplay to me is like texting or talking to each other throughout the day like if it's a nighttime thing that is leading up to it and kind of like gets you in the mood but once we're like there i'm not a fan of all of the like touching and caressing and to because immediately i am really super horny and i just want to do it so y'all not kissing either then i mean we are but like as it's happening are we throwing like i don't know this is hard to talk about dancing

02:38:05 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 3:

around what we can say and what we can't say can we say the o word like not um not you can just say like that. The type of sex that you can have. Reaching orgasm? Is that what you're talking about? No, no, no. The other O word that's like a four-letter word. Oh.

02:38:20 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 4:

What is the O word? I'm trying to...

02:38:22 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 3:

All right, so you're not having actual that kind of sex. You're having the other sex.

02:38:29 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 5:

But that to me is part of the O.

02:38:31 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 3:

Does that count as foreplay for y'all or is that factored into the number?

02:38:35 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 5:

That's factored into the number for me.

02:38:37 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:38:39 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 5:

That's not considered foreplay to me. That's, like, part of it.

02:38:42 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 4:

That's actual intercourse.

02:38:45 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 3:

See, I feel like that's foreplay.

02:38:47 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 4:

That ain't real safe. Hector, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How long is a quickie? How quick is a quickie?

02:38:55 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 1:

A quickie would be, like, three minutes.

02:38:58 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so three minutes is a quickie. Like, if you say to your, what is it, wife or girlfriend?

02:39:07 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 1:

Wife.

02:39:08 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, if you say to her, hey, let's just have a quickie, like we got time for a quickie. Three minutes is all you pencil into your calendar.

02:39:16 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, that's all there is anymore. You know, after 20 years, you know, it depends on the relationship status, though. You know, in the first five years, you've got a winner. So that's where it's the marathon. But after that, it's sprint. You know, whoever gets to the finish line first.

02:39:34 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

the marathon only happens when you get whiskey d that's usually the only time that you get it uh or you have or you take the little blue pill or somebody needs to let me know hey that chewable one that they keep advertising on the uh the tv has anybody ever tried one of those ones have you seen that at all being advertised we are not getting the same ads i saw i saw it being

02:40:00 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 2:

advertised on good morning america no way really literally just a couple of minutes ago they had it's like a little red chewable or something like that uh what's going on let's go to haley haley uh hector says two or three minutes is a quickie how long is a quickie for you guys you say haley yes haley by the way i've already had sex by the time people actually respond to

02:40:23 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 1:

me with these phones this week go ahead what's going on so my my spouse's quickies are usually probably six to eight minutes um but usually we do it pretty long our longest being three hours due to the fact that um he took an edible yeah and i don't know if it that he just said it felt so good it made him laugh longer but then we've also had sex for over an hour with him not being on an edible so i think we're just really into each other nightmare and uh it's not a nightmare it's very uh euphoric how old is he if he's having sex for an hour uh my boyfriend is 31 i'm 29 i'll be 30 in august yeah because usually they've been together for

02:41:12 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 2:

two years they say that guys that any guy that's in his 20s or or 30s usually is not a guy that's going to last longer they say as you get older you last longer but also comes the bad parts of that and that is that uh you have a hard time getting going too so it's kind of like uh the engine will last but the engine takes a while to start out really okay so you got what nationality

02:41:37 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 1:

is he because he must be latin is he latin is he latin no he's italian i'm italian he's an italian We're both 50% Italian.

02:41:48 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Good for you, man. Got to love those Italians. I used to ask an Italian friend of mine, I said, hey, what's that little necklace thing there? You know, the Italian horn? Oh, the horn, yeah. The guy goes, that's the shape of my penis. Oh, my God. Like, really? Oh, yeah? Yeah. What's going on? Marvin. Hi, Marvin. How you doing? Marvin. I'm telling you, I think we're picking up the phone lines and people don't hear us at all.

02:42:16 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 1:

I know this voice.

02:42:19 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, guys? Good morning.

02:42:21 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this Uber Marvin.

02:42:24 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes, yes. Lift. Lift Marvin. My bad. My bad. What's going on? I was going to say, I'd say five, ten minutes to do a quickie, but when y'all was talking about that hour and two hours stuff, that's that P. Diddy stuff. That's the IVs and the oil and the little drinks you got to take. You keep going. Take your numb.

02:42:51 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Don't ever trust anybody that's doing it for two hours. You know that they're doing some crazy stuff.

02:42:56 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, no, no, no, no. I think you'd be out of your mind by the end.

02:43:00 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you passed out. At that point, you should call the police. Hey, thanks, Marvin. Nice to talk to you again, buddy. No problem. We have Pastor Brian on the phone that wants to comment on this. Pastor Brian?

02:43:14 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 5:

Yep.

02:43:15 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Not much. How are you guys doing this morning? Good. We're good, Brian. Give us some energy here, man. You're a little low-key right now.

02:43:25 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, I've been cursed with stamina. The quickest we've ever gone is 20 minutes.

02:43:33 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's your quickie?

02:43:37 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we average about 45, and we do the two-for-one special. So where she gets two, I get one. Pastor Brian.

02:43:46 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you this. Pastor Brian, if your sermon, if your homily lasts as long as your sex does, I ain't coming to your church. I'm going to probably think that it's going to be too long of a service.

02:43:59 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 3:

No, those usually only go about as long as the quickies. Really? That's unreal.

02:44:03 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Pastor Brian, what nationality are you that you're lasting that long?

02:44:10 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm a 37-year-old Irish white guy.

02:44:13 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 2:

Holy cow. Lucky guy, huh? The luck of the Irish over there. That's crazy. Would any of the women in our radio studios here want to be with a guy that his minimum is 20 minutes, his normal is 45?

02:44:28 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:44:29 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 2:

I would think if y'all getting pleased, then y'all in it. No. It's painful.

02:44:35 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 4:

All right. All pleasure, no pain. You still only taking the 20 bar? It depends. Come on now. If you're laying there getting your Christmas tree lit up, you ain't about to just say.

02:44:47 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

It depends. All right.

02:44:49 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 2:

Leslie wants to give us a word that we should add to our vocabulary. What is that, Leslie? Hi.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Leslie. The delay is crazy. Listen to your phone.

02:45:00 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 2:

Leslie. Leslie. Hello. Leslie. Oh, my God. This is aggravating me to the max. Leslie. Are you there? Put her back on the phone. Put her back on hold so that Lydia can. Oh, God. I really want. Is there a way to listen in? I don't even want to think of Lydia having sex. But could you imagine her yelling at her guy like this? Four minutes and 50 seconds.

02:45:27 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Come on. I got a prep. No, I just hung up on her. That's it. Oh, Lydia.

02:45:32 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 2:

That happens to me. It's wraps. That right there would, all of a sudden, I think we all went limp at that moment. All right, we're going to give you some tickets to go see Post Malone and Jelly Roll. Let's text POST to 95500, and we will give you a pair of tickets. So text POST to 95500, standard text, and data rates do apply. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30. It's going to be an indoor day today. We're going to need to get our internet up and running because we're going to be sitting inside all day streaming or watching some stuff. It's going to be cold again today. Tomorrow, by the way, you know 20 degrees is going to feel like 80 degrees tomorrow. It is. Facts. I think cargo shorts are in order tomorrow back when you're feeling like it's 20 degrees. What's going on, Shannon, in the Dirty on the 30, please?

02:46:29 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, yesterday, the legal team for actor-director Justin Baldoni released a series of video takes about 10 minutes in total from the movie It Ends With Us as they continue to push back on Blake Lively's sexual harassment claims. In Blake's lawsuit, one of the pieces of it, she objected to Justin's conduct during filming of a slow dance sequence when their characters are supposed to be, like, all hanging in love with each other. Well, as I'm watching some of the takes from that sequence that Justin's team released, I'm slightly confused. They're, to me, both acting quite professional. There are definitely some differences in opinions here, but I'll play you part of that. She keeps saying, it's nice to talk. It's more romantic. They're dancing. She's talking about how lip readers might come in and they must know what they're saying. Remember the whole drama about how she told him that he needed to get a nose job and he wrote in his lawsuit that he was offended by that. Here's a clip from that part.

02:47:42 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 2:

I feel so nosy. I know. I just nose this.

02:47:46 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 1:

And my nose is so big. Yes. I was hoping that we could address this. It's not too late. Just got to shut down. Got to call on insurance month and just deal with that. And then, um...

02:47:57 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 2:

Cut.

02:47:58 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Just kidding. Now, Blake's team is seeing all of this very differently. And they're arguing in a statement that all of this footage that Baldoni's team released fully corroborates her story, her account, showing her leaning away while Justin tries to kiss her and caress her. She keeps talking to him and saying the character should just talk to avoid any sort of physical contact that he wants to make. Not part of the scene, according to her. Her team said any woman who has been inappropriately touched in the workplace will recognize Miss Lively's discomfort. They will recognize her attempts at levity to try to deflect the unwanted touching. No woman should have to take such defensive measures. His attorney already filing or, excuse me, firing back at that just moments ago. I swear this does not end. And he says that they're going to be releasing a link to a website at some point today or tomorrow. And on that website will be more video and all of the correspondence between Justin and Blake. So if you're following this story, be on the lookout for that. ASAP Rocky turned down a final prosecution plea deal of 180 days in jail and will now face the possibility of a guilty verdict and more than two decades in prison as his jury selection began at his trial yesterday. Again, he's accused of firing at a former friend near a hotel in Hollywood back in 2021. His maximum sentence, 24 years if convicted. He has pleaded not guilty. And so this agreement that was offered to him was for ASAP to plead guilty to one of the two felony accounts. L.A. County prosecutors were also going to recommend a seven-year suspended sentence, three years of probation, and then just a six-month jail term. But Rocky told the judge he respectfully declined that offer. And you guys probably all know this meme. 12 years ago, a little girl named Chloe Clem became known as Side-Eye Chloe when her mom posted a photo of her in a car seat giving a pretty hysterical, unimpressed look. She's strapped in, she's wearing...

02:50:00 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 4:

like this purple shirt and she's just looking I've used it a million times a little cute little blonde girl well that photo went viral as a meme for people to use when they're describing like anything that they're unimpressed by or discuss them whatever Chloe's now 14 and she said she doesn't really get recognized out in public anymore but her mom said seeing her daughter's face everywhere especially when she was little and being recognized and people wanted to come up and take photos with her was really uncomfortable and she said looking back I regret putting it out there it did come with some benefits they sold the photo they had some large partnerships with brands like google pixel made uh they sold the photo as an nft a couple of years ago made 74 000 bucks from that but still she said if i had the choice to do it all over again side eye chloe would not exist as mom i would not have done it mike and i talk about this stuff all the time on

02:50:52 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 5:

the slightly messy show and like family vlogging just in general i think passengers or eight passengers or whatever it's called is a great example of that and the kids who grow up and say you've exploded my childhood. I do think it's a little bit wild that

02:52:16 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 4:

both of them. I was going to say, I think it was both of them had their moments. Diane Sawyer, for sure.

02:52:22 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 5:

Gotta throw her into the mix. I felt Barbara was always kind of a bitch. She just had stuff that was inappropriate and rude and kind of off limits. She tried to out people all the time. Remember

02:52:30 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 2:

Jerry Maguire in the movie Jerry Maguire? Do you guys ever see Jerry Maguire? Oh, yeah. There was the... You never saw Jerry Maguire?

02:52:38 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 5:

I only know Show Me the Money and The Human Head weighs eight pounds. I couldn't tell you a single other thing about that movie. Kevin never

02:52:46 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 3:

saw jerry mcguire no we've we've had this conversation before it was always on tnt and who wants to watch movies with ads and stuff and i mean kevin uh i thought you didn't have cable that you had tnt i mean back in the day when jerry mcguire used to be shown like every saturday

02:53:01 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 2:

morning okay so jerry mcguire in the movie he was uh cuba goodian jr was being interviewed by that guy that used to have a show on espn and he'd be like you're not gonna make me cry you're not gonna make me cry says it in there um but that's brad galley now so brad galley is the crier he's the guy that will make you cry um but he he says to me he goes uh he goes you know he goes i it was like a pin drop could happen in the press room when dan did that he got emotional everybody like that must be like uh the big thing with these reporters where if they can get the coach to get the sound bite that's the sound bite that everybody uses then you get the uh the bite that

02:53:45 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 4:

everybody's all excited about we should do a bit with brad because i feel like i feel like he knows all of us pretty well where he comes in and interviews us and see yes he's if he could get us to cry with a question to cry yeah because he got dan campbell to cry okay lydia call brad up

02:54:03 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 2:

right now and see if brad will answer our phone and then brad's got to talk to each one of us or ask us a question and see which one of us gets emotional off of the question that he asks because people were making a lot of noise over the fact that they thought that I was heartless over thinking that Dan Campbell shouldn't be crying at a press conference.

02:54:23 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 3:

I mean, they weren't wrong,

02:54:24 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 2:

but maybe it's not Dan Campbell. Maybe it's Brad Galley that just makes you cry, get you emotional and stuff. You know, that's the, that's the guy that can do it. The other story that I thought was funny yesterday that went viral, did you see the, or this, I guess, happened over the weekend. Did you see the video of the mayor of Philadelphia who didn't know how to spell the word ego?

02:54:52 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Oh, God, I just saw it. Listen, we've got to do this. Let me hear you all say E-M-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A-R-A

02:55:00 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 2:

E-L-G-F-E-S-E-G-E-S-E-G-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S-E-S

02:55:30 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 3:

That is so funny. That's the worst, though. You're the mayor. You're the mayor of the city.

02:55:35 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 2:

How should she go straight to L, though?

02:55:37 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

02:55:38 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, how do you skip two letters?

02:55:40 - 02:56:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That is so funny. That's funny. Lydia has been calling Brad. He's not answering our phone. That will make me cry. If you don't pick up our phone call, Brad. He's on now. And I give you all this. Oh, he's there. Is he? Brad Galley. Brad, how you doing, Brad? What up, Brad?

02:56:00 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm great. I'm great. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

02:56:03 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 3:

Brad, so here's the deal. We're going to do a contest here right now because you are the new Oprah Winfrey of Detroit sports where you can make people cry by just asking a question. I would like you to talk to each one of us. You can ask each one of us a question and whichever one of us gets, you know, you get to cry then uh you win a prize or something i don't know can you do that yeah but you know

02:56:35 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 1:

what i learned from uh my aunt oprah is it's got to come from the heart it's got to come from a build-up of a real place so being put on the spot like this it's got to it's got to feel authentic so you want to start with you because i think i know you're the best yeah go ahead go ahead brad

02:56:50 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 3:

this is the legend brad galli

02:56:52 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 1:

when it's freezing out like this my friend and uh you do get that time to get away and and head south to florida and uh you fly down and you think about everything you've done as a father and you get in your car oh you sound you turn on the radio and you hear your son's voice as someone who's followed in your footsteps but is doing his own thing on the radio and set a name for himself. You are such a bastard.

02:57:21 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 2:

That's good, that's good, that's good.

02:57:22 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 3:

I hate you. I hate you. Listen, I don't got like, I got tears in my eyes right now.

02:57:28 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 2:

God, I hate you. That is good.

02:57:31 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 3:

I just want you to know Dan Miller is a better sports guy than you are. I want you to know that.

02:57:36 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 1:

I love Dan.

02:57:38 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 3:

Actually, I'm joking when I say that. I love Brad Galley. Brad Galley, you got me. You are the best, Brad. You're such a, he's good. Smart man. Alright, alright, try one with Shannon. then you know shannon well come on let's see let's hear what you say on that girls trip you

02:57:53 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 1:

guys take just you and lucy um i saw the photos on instagram pop up and you post uh you know however many years ago you first went um but just to see how much she's grown and the conversations you can hold rather than just hey here's a coloring page and we're having a good time in new york but to sit across the table from her and have a real conversation um i don't know what kind How emotions does that bring out in you and the growth that the two of you have had on that trip that's become so real for you?

02:58:23 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 3:

Look at her crying. She's crying, Brad. This guy's unbelievable.

02:58:26 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 2:

She's a woman. She's a woman.

02:58:32 - 02:58:34 | Speaker 3:

You're such a – this guy's a journalist.

02:58:34 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 2:

That, honestly, I wasn't really expecting that.

02:58:39 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 1:

Marquette University. This guy comes from a real place. I know you guys. It's real.

02:58:44 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Call the journalism department at Marquette University. They did good with this guy. All right, next up for grabs, let's try Megan on this one. Go ahead, Bray.

02:58:52 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good luck.

02:58:53 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 1:

Sorry. I'll keep it simple, Megan. You've worked in a bunch of different places. You made a name for yourself in Ohio. Mojo worked with you, brought you on the show. But he tells me all the time, you're an indispensable part of the show. People love you. He loves you. Oh, he lies. As much as you guys give each other grief. He always tells me in whispers, don't tell her this. I love her. To be a part of this community in a way that you've become, I don't know. Do you ever reflect back on the last few years of just how much you've grown as a person and as somebody who's meant so much to this town and this radio station and all of its listeners? Nope. Oh, that's great. Hold on, Kevin. I love Stan Campbell. There's a Panay Sewell in that locker room. That's right.

02:59:47 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm Skipper puking in the corner.

02:59:51 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Is Panay Sewell the guy that you can't make cry? Is he, like, indispensable as far as, like, you know, or, you know, uncriable?

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 4:

The man's made of cement. He's ultimate. Just like, oh, my, good luck. I love the guy. Bruiser. Like, people should wear his jersey proudly. But, yeah, there's no sappy music with him.

03:00:11 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 2:

What about Kevin? What about Kevin? Can you make him cry?

03:00:15 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I can make him cry, but, dude, I think it's sweet. Whenever I, you know, see you out and about at a Michigan State game or a Pistons game, it's always so funny. I mean, this is so cool. You just, how are you always on? You're the Ryan Seacrest of our town. You're always doing something, and it always comes back to fatherhood with you. So I just wonder how cool it is for maybe, like, your kids' classmates to come up and high-five you at a game, to see you at a game, and realize the impact you're making, not just in this town with a microphone, but as a father on your son and everything in the relationship the two of you have, cheering on some of his favorite teams, knowing that his dad is the voice in the arenas for some of those players and those teams.

03:00:58 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, great question, man. First off, man, got to give all glory to God. Without him, none of this would be possible. You know, when I look in my son's eyes, not only do I see him, but I try to look through him. And when I look through him, I see myself. And I see myself.

03:01:14 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 3:

Wait, I'm crying now. I'm the one crying now.

03:01:19 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 2:

What was the question you asked Dan Campbell that got Dan Campbell emotional?

03:01:26 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 4:

I won't take credit for it. It's just that's who he is, and I think all I did was just I picked the right key in the crowd to unlock what I think he wanted to get out anyways. Someone had already asked him to explain and look back on the season, and I just said, can you look back on the journey with the people around you and how tough it's been? You know, you guys go 15-2, but is it tough to put into words the journey of everything that you've been through as a group? And that's when he just lost it, thinking about all the guys.

03:01:52 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 5:

You are so good, Brad. Brad, please do not leave us for GMA or the Today Show. I swear you're going to get scooped up by one of these major national shows.

03:02:03 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 4:

This is home, man. We love working here.

03:02:05 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 1:

Question for you, because I think in a world right now where everybody wants to ask the question that's going to go viral, you just said something very interesting. I'd love to get your thoughts. Is it less about you asking and coming in with a preconceived notion and question, trying to get a response and more about reading the energy of the person that you're asking the

03:02:25 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 4:

question to like how do you go about deciding that a little bit of both lions fans were frustrated at the end of that game mad even um not understanding how to deal with it all but it's it's a collective effort we have to make in that room to try to get answers to why did you pick that play on third and one when golf fumbled it but also how the heck did this 15 and two team just lose to also you know how do you sum up everything that just went wrong um so there's a responsibility to it but also yeah you got to read the person man because it like golf was tapping the table and didn't want to talk and was very short with his answers and you could just tell the dude wanted to burst out in emotion but it's just not who he is yeah so yeah you have to read the room but you also get the answers that that fans want i'm not a hot take guy i'm not mr i gotta have the question that's there and blah blah blah blah but i just try to unlock those moments for people to get

03:03:15 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 2:

closer to their favorite players or coaches that's amazing that's seriously that makes so total sense i mean the sports talk radio guys that all their goal is is to piss these guys off your goal is just to get their heart their answer from their heart you know um hey real quick uh not brad galley is on the phone too oh my god is this not brad galley on the phone with us right

03:03:40 - 03:04:16 | Speaker 3:

know this is bad galley i have a question for you mojo um if you could go back to that pivotal day at iheart when the ribbon cutting ceremony and you weren't invited to my god this is so good you know after the 25 years you put into this company uh the 18 i think it was like 18 to 25 hour surgery that you had on your heart. And I heart snubbing you during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Now you're making me pissed off. Now he's pissing me off.

03:04:17 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 2:

Bad Galley has got me on this one here. Oh, my God. Brad, do you know that Bad Galley, otherwise, a.k.a. known as Misfit Victor, all he wants to do is hang out with you at one of these card shows that you go to on the weekend.

03:04:34 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, man, we've got to get out there. We should get out there. Victor's always commented on my Facebook page. Brad Galley, WXYZ. So come there. We can always hang out for the conversation.

03:04:43 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Something between Victor and Brad. Brad, I have a card for your collection.

03:04:48 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 4:

What is the card? What do you got? What is it? That's the next time we'll jump on. What is it, though? Tell me. It's a Steve Eisenman. ingrained, uh, upper deck card with the, uh, with the leaf on it from the, uh, from the, uh, MVP trophy. There's only 99 in existence. I have 11 of them. So I'm going to get one of them.

03:05:12 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 3:

This is unbelievable. Thank you. All right. Well, listen, you two nerds. These guys are

03:05:21 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 4:

going to retire. That's cool. Yeah, go ahead. Can I give one thing, uh, to the people out there? We do a seven Newsmaker of the Year every year, and Jared Goff was one of them. We have a 12-minute sit-down interview airing with him Friday night on Channel 7 at 7.30. Wow. It was just Jared and me, and it was a lot about his relationship with the city, the origin of the Jared Goff chant, what the fans mean to him, what he means to the fans, the fact that he's given college scholarships to kids in the city. So it's a lot about the quarterback, the man. It was pretty good. He was pretty open. Afterwards, he's very sarcastic. He goes, you did a good job. You actually asked me some new questions. I don't get a lot of those right now.

03:05:57 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's a huge deal. Brad, I heard this through a very good source that they're doing the – I guess the NFL has been following Jared around all year and videotaping him, and the rumor has been that he might have to move because the fact that his house was shown so much in this thing that it might be a little too much. So I've heard that from a couple of people, but I hear he's just an amazing guy. So that's awesome to know that you guys got it. 7.30 on Channel 7, WXYZ. Yeah, Friday night.

03:06:29 - 03:06:30 | Speaker 4:

It's going to be good.

03:06:30 - 03:06:50 | Speaker 3:

Stream it on them if you're in Grand Rapids, Toledo, or around the world right now. Thanks, Brad. We'll talk to you later, buddy. We love you. Brad Galley, everybody. This guy deserves a raise. Call Mike Murray. Tell Mike Murray you have a new agent. It's me. I'm representing you in your next negotiations. I love you guys. We'll talk to you soon. All right.

03:06:50 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 2:

We'll talk to you later, buddy. WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

03:07:07 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Actually, I'm representing Bad Galley. He's going to get a new eye. That is pretty funny, Bad Galley. All right, Mojo in the Morning. Dating them for what they have. Kevin, we've talked to her. By the way, your mom, by the way, was priceless today. If you didn't hear the podcast from Kevin from earlier this morning, we got into it a little bit with Kevin and said we needed his mom to be on to pull him back in. I love her, man. She's great.

03:07:41 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I would not be the man I am today without that woman in my life. She is everything and more. I don't show her enough, and I don't tell her enough, and I need to do a much better job at that.

03:07:51 - 03:08:06 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. Okay, so now let's talk about your fun ways. Dating somebody. Dating somebody for what they have. You heard of people date for money? Exactly. But this is not money, though, huh?

03:08:06 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 1:

That's where I'm having this internal discussion and battle, and when I have these moments, i bring them to the people i talk to the most which is you all and i had this discussion in my brain where i was like typically we call let's just put it out there women who date more well-off financially men gold diggers and we say oh she just after him for his bread she just after him for his money and then there are some women out there who say admittedly i want to date a rich guy i want to be a kept woman and that's a segment of the population that exists and then in my brain I was like damn am I being a hypocrite if I'm condemning that person but at the same time I say man how nice would it be if I want to date an interior decorator or an interior designer because our house gonna be fire if it gets to that point or I want to date a chef because you know hopefully as much as she cooks in her profession she want to cook at the crib or I want to date somebody that's really into fitness because you know their body's gonna look nice but then maybe that'll spill over into my life like is it the same type of mindset do people do that do people

03:09:16 - 03:09:22 | Speaker 3:

date somebody because of their occupation and what they can get out of the deal I believe so

03:09:22 - 03:09:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I've ever done but like this for example like one of the one of the reasons why I was attracted to Cheryl was obviously because our connection with both of our parents being incarcerated but she was a boss bitch and I'm attracted to that like I like that type of energy I like that type of woman that knows where she's going, has a business. Like, I like that type of thing.

03:09:42 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Being attracted to that is different to me than like the way that you kind of open this up was it almost felt like you were using somebody for something, whether it be money or whether it be a talent or whether it be like that is very apples and oranges to me with you being.

03:10:00 - 03:10:10 | Speaker 3:

attracted to Sherelle because of, you know, her drive. Maybe that was a bad example, but like there are perks to relationships and going after someone for that perk.

03:10:12 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 2:

I guess if out of all the things that you said, the date, the chef one intrigued me. Is anybody listening that that ever feels like somebody has dated them for for what they do and not who they are sometimes that if that were the case, what would they date us for? Huh?

03:10:29 - 03:10:33 | Speaker 1:

Tickets. He's got a lot. But we don't really get tickets.

03:10:33 - 03:11:06 | Speaker 2:

Back in the day, though, you used to. Yeah. Back in the day, you used to definitely get, you know, access to go to things. Like, you know, when there was more opportunity. That would be kind of a cool thing, I guess. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Out of all the different people that you've dated over time, was there anybody that had an occupation that was, like, a great one to date? Because I always thought this with Dr. Werner. Dr. Werner would be the greatest guy to date because you always have access to a doctor, right? That's another one. That knows the vagina.

03:11:06 - 03:11:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, just a doctor in general. You need a prescription written, it's done.

03:11:12 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Immediate. Or, man, I've got this, this is happening. Yeah, can you look at this? Exactly. Just the ease of that.

03:11:19 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 2:

Cassie actually wants to dispel a myth, though. What's up, Cassie? How you doing? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on?

03:11:25 - 03:11:43 | Speaker 7:

so i'm engaged with chef and he never cooks at home so dating someone in a profession thinking that they're going to do something at home they're not going to because they do it all day at work so why would they want to do it at home yeah people think we got a great playlist

03:11:43 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 2:

of songs i do last thing in the world we want to do right i'll make the hell out of playlists

03:11:48 - 03:12:06 | Speaker 3:

but i do think there are people who fit that mold of who do the thing all day and when they come home They want to be removed from it. But I also think it's people that love cooking in the kitchen, regardless of where they are. That's their language. That's their love. And they do it no matter the location. Does he cook at least Thanksgiving dinner for you, Cassie?

03:12:06 - 03:12:25 | Speaker 7:

He had to work this past Thanksgiving, so I actually did all the cooking. He's great when he actually has time to plan something and cook, but most of the time he just chooses not to because he also doesn't get home until after 9 or 10 o'clock at night.

03:12:25 - 03:12:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It has to be hard to cook when you're dating a chef.

03:12:28 - 03:12:29 | Speaker 7:

Oh.

03:12:29 - 03:12:31 | Speaker 3:

Like just judging yourself. He's so self-conscious.

03:12:32 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I don't care. I cook whatever I want and what my toddler will eat. And if he doesn't like it, then he can cook whatever or go out.

03:12:40 - 03:12:40 | Speaker 1:

Love it.

03:12:41 - 03:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Courtney brings up a really good point when it comes to this, dating for their occupation. What's up, Courtney? Hi.

03:12:47 - 03:13:18 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Good morning, guys. Good morning. um i i was just thinking in the past this is why megan doesn't want to date a listener or she's had an experience where she dated a listener and the whole time was like okay can you get me into this event or can you um get me tickets for this thing and i'm sure it happens to you guys where it's like they even if you don't have tickets anymore they just want to date you for the clout yeah like it could put them up potentially happens all the time i'm glad you brought it up yeah i could see i always got your back megan because they were really getting mad at you

03:13:18 - 03:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they were, which is why I didn't bring it up again. I'm surprised you call in. But, yeah, no, I got a lot of flack for saying that.

03:13:27 - 03:13:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, also, you don't want to sound like you're insulting the listener, but I get your point where you feel like if you're dating a listener, they're not dating you for who you are. They're dating you for who you are on the radio sometimes.

03:13:38 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 6:

Although I am going to call Megan out really quick because she did say she'd date someone for a green card, which we also know happens.

03:13:44 - 03:13:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Canadians. Oh, Canada. Everyone has their price.

03:13:54 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 2:

Listen to some of these texters that are coming in here right now. Can't talk, but I'm a mechanic and girls date me just to fix their cars. Oh, I am. And your point is, and then I like this one here. I like the texter that says, I'm a physical therapist, massage therapist. Wait, she's on.

03:14:13 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 6:

She's on.

03:14:13 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 2:

She is. Hi, what's going on? Line nine. Hello, line nine. What's up? What's your name, Line 9? Other than Line 9. What's going on?

03:14:22 - 03:14:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm Christina.

03:14:24 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 2:

What's up?

03:14:27 - 03:14:35 | Speaker 4:

I'm a physical therapist. I have been on dates where literally the guys start telling me about my shoulder's been hurting.

03:14:36 - 03:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Can you

03:14:37 - 03:14:38 | Speaker 4:

take a look?

03:14:40 - 03:14:44 | Speaker 2:

I can see where that would get annoying, right? What's wrong with me?

03:14:45 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Is that bad? It comes with a job. It comes with a job. Yeah, I know. My sister's a PT. Actually, I'm going over to her house tonight to get a job. But a massage therapist, when you said massage therapist, Mojo, I was like, oh, yeah, that would be an absolute dating perk. For sure.

03:15:01 - 03:15:19 | Speaker 5:

248 says, I dated a stripper thinking it would be awesome. She never danced for me ever. Ryan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, buddy? Hey, Ryan. Hi. How you doing, man? Hey, how you doing? Good. What's going on? First time in a long time.

03:15:20 - 03:15:22 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Ryan is on the phone.

03:15:22 - 03:15:40 | Speaker 4:

Snuck that one in. I just wanted to say, just like a chef, they don't want to cook when they're at home, but here you are you talk all day and you know you still managed to talk or what you managed to call foreplay with chelsea well well you heavily pet her so yeah you know what though you say that

03:15:40 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 1:

and when i get home and now not so much because west doesn't work from home anymore but when i get home i don't want to talk to anybody for a while we've had that as a topic on our we don't

03:15:51 - 03:16:16 | Speaker 5:

podcast where we say that one of the worst things is we work in a communications business but we're the worst communicators yeah you know i disagree uh hey thanks ryan for for making me have to get into an argument later today we're at home i uh by the way that's the other thing too with our job you ever notice our job sometimes we actually will do something on the radio and it always will end up coming up a little bit later yeah so what did you guys talk about on the show today nothing

03:16:16 - 03:16:24 | Speaker 1:

we played a lot of music it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning it's the second date update

03:16:24 - 03:16:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm Mojo in the morning.

03:16:26 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 5:

Second date update, why are you not getting a call back? If you ever are faced with this, maybe you go on a date or two and then you don't hear from them anymore, text DATE to 95500, standard tax and data rates to apply, and we will call you up and get you on the show. Noah is on with us right now. Noah, how long have you guys been talking to each other, Noah?

03:16:48 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, Mojo. You know, we've known each other through mutual friends for a while now. We went out on a couple of dates over the last month or six weeks, and, you know, things were going really well. I think she was, like, very into me, the way she was texting me, you know, when you just know that someone's interested. But then it just kind of fell away, and I'm trying to figure out what happened, put the pieces together.

03:17:17 - 03:17:19 | Speaker 5:

Have you guys hooked up at all?

03:17:20 - 03:17:21 | Speaker 6:

And we actually have hooked up.

03:17:22 - 03:17:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So you guys have gotten together enough where you guys have hooked up with each other. Now she's not calling you back. You want to know what's going on. Pamela's on the phone with us right now. Pamela, what's going on? Will you say hi to Noah for us?

03:17:39 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

03:17:41 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

03:17:41 - 03:17:42 | Speaker 6:

How are you?

03:17:43 - 03:17:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. How are you?

03:17:47 - 03:17:50 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. I'm good. This is interesting.

03:17:51 - 03:17:56 | Speaker 5:

Actually, no, you're not good. Noah, tell her what's going on. Tell her what you've been thinking.

03:17:58 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 6:

I guess I'm just curious what happened because I feel like after the last date we had that things were going really well. You seemed interested and we were texting, but then you kind of stopped responding and sort of ghosted me.

03:18:12 - 03:19:41 | Speaker 3:

um i mean yeah that's accurate i guess why yeah i knew i wasn't making it up why'd you stop um well things are good until they weren't and uh yeah and and what does that mean exactly okay well um so noah and i right or you know he and i have been hooking up and then we thought well maybe we should start dating and then once that happened when we like kind of flipped the friends with benefits stuff he uh said to me you know that he oh god his last girlfriend they broke up you know the reason they broke up and i was just like uh i don't want to be with a guy like that what was the reason that they broke up um he said that he cheated on her okay and he like came clean with that information well he was he was like i just want to be open and honest and um i don't want this to be like my other relationships we just kept keeping secrets together and i was like okay well like what and he was like well i just think you should know um that i cheated on my last girlfriend but don't worry like i'm a changed man and it's like how many guys have said that all of them

03:19:41 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 5:

so he's getting dinged for being honest with you and and telling you the the truth about uh something bad that happened well i mean i wouldn't call it punishment

03:19:56 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 3:

but it's like you've

03:20:00 - 03:20:05 | Speaker 5:

already told me that you're a cheater so now i know that's great once a cheater always a cheater

03:20:05 - 03:20:13 | Speaker 1:

yeah that's great yeah that's not fair to me to say because i i did that in in good faith you know

03:20:13 - 03:20:19 | Speaker 4:

i was trying to be honest with you you did what you know that i learned cheat no no no no i i was

03:20:19 - 03:20:37 | Speaker 1:

that's rude i was honest with you and i and i wanted you know that was over two years ago and And I have changed, and I wanted to tell you the truth up front, and I thought I was doing a good thing, but I guess that's not true.

03:20:37 - 03:20:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, what makes you think that you've changed?

03:20:43 - 03:20:50 | Speaker 2:

How do you know you've changed? First off, Noah, you have changed, you said? You have not cheated since then?

03:20:52 - 03:21:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that was something that I regretted in the past. you know besides the cheating there was a lot of issues in that relationship okay so i just wanted to start this one out with honesty and the truth and i thought that that was the right thing to do and i didn't think that like you said i would be punished for you know kind of yeah being honest

03:21:13 - 03:21:18 | Speaker 6:

i have to really applaud you putting it all on the table if i could ask a quick question pamela

03:21:18 - 03:21:25 | Speaker 3:

have you been in a relationship where you've been cheated on before absolutely okay but i i i get

03:21:25 - 03:22:01 | Speaker 4:

where she's coming from though too and i i'm sorry that he had issues in his past relationships and i'm sorry that that led him to cheat i i commend him for being open and honest about it but i don't think being open and honest about it means that you just get a pass for it affecting all of your future relationships if people don't want to be with somebody who has cheated before and you give them that information from the get-go well then i understand well but i understand them leaving and saying listen you have shown that you are capable of making those decisions and i don't want to get involved with somebody who's made them before that's she's allowed to say that and be a liar

03:22:01 - 03:22:12 | Speaker 6:

uh noah and i and i don't agree with that i don't i don't think you should not admit it because then if we start a relationship and i find that out later i'm then i'm really not going to trust

03:22:12 - 03:22:20 | Speaker 4:

you but i agree with you there but somebody's allowed to say cool thank you for being honest and somebody's allowed to say thank you for being honest i'm not looking to move forward with you

03:22:20 - 03:22:33 | Speaker 2:

the both are acceptable 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i'd love to know what your thoughts are did noah uh was he a fool for bringing this up i mean i don't think he was a fool for bringing it up the

03:22:33 - 03:22:59 | Speaker 3:

only the only reason i would agree that he was a fool is based on her reactions if it goes a month or a year and obviously nothing was wrong with noah outside of this which is why she was in a physical relationship and was considering moving it more to something serious emotional and considered dating him and moving into you know like boyfriend and girlfriend whatever they call it and this is the only thing if it would continue for a year and she fell in love with him and then it came up would it be a problem would you just throw him away because quote-unquote once a cheater always

03:22:59 - 03:23:07 | Speaker 6:

a cheater and remember what we're talking about this is not like he said it on their first or second date they've known each other for a very long time the only reason she's not talking to

03:23:07 - 03:23:16 | Speaker 2:

him they've had a relationship right um so she knows isn't she knows what kind of heart this guy has other than that one time she doesn't approve of it but she's not why she's making

03:23:16 - 03:23:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she's not fully invested. I'm like, they've been dating for a year.

03:23:21 - 03:23:34 | Speaker 2:

Rachel, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. What are your thoughts on Pamela telling Noah she doesn't want another date because he admitted to cheating in his past? Rachel?

03:23:36 - 03:23:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hi. I agree with Megan, per usual. I think that women are allowed to set boundaries and have certain standards, and the only way you can recover from having a cheating phase or anything like that is when you're in high school and those relationships just don't really matter. But as an adult, if you're capable of doing something like that, you're going to keep doing it and people don't really change.

03:23:58 - 03:24:38 | Speaker 2:

So it's okay to cheat, just cheat when you're in high school because relationships don't matter. That makes no sense. I hate to say it. And I hate to say that all you're doing is you're making people not ever want to be truthful with you. People make mistakes in their past. We all have. And if you're getting judged off of your mistakes, I think that the guy seems like, you know, he's learned from his lesson and we also don't know what that relationship was like. But Alyssa, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts? Hi, Alyssa. What's going on? It's a second date update. Alyssa. I don't think she's there anymore. She's not. Justin, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts? What's going on?

03:24:38 - 03:24:45 | Speaker 1:

hi justin good morning first time long time

03:24:45 - 03:24:56 | Speaker 2:

justin justin our phone lines this week have been kind of crazy uh people can't hear us at the beginning when i picked up the phone line you couldn't tell i picked up the phone line for you

03:24:56 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 1:

no i can hear you right away okay good all right go ahead

03:25:00 - 03:25:16 | Speaker 6:

Hey, for my guy, it's experience like that. You live and you learn, you know. You might know the hurt you caused someone going through that experience. You move forward in the future. You don't make that same mistake.

03:25:17 - 03:25:26 | Speaker 9:

So just move on, and should he ever tell another girl, though, that he's done what he's done in the past? Or should he learn from this lesson that it could come back and bite him in the ass?

03:25:26 - 03:25:38 | Speaker 3:

But with that logic, everybody who's ever cheated has only ever cheated once because they learn the hurt. They never did it again and they moved on. And I think a lot of people know that that's not always the case.

03:25:38 - 03:25:42 | Speaker 9:

So, Megan, then should people who cheat never be able to be in another relationship?

03:25:42 - 03:25:50 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say that at all. I just understand why some people say I'm not interested in dating somebody who's cheated before.

03:25:50 - 03:25:56 | Speaker 8:

But if you never cheated before, it doesn't mean that you won't cheat in your current relationship. It doesn't completely absolve you of getting cheated on.

03:25:56 - 03:26:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm not saying that it does. I just said that you can prove that you're capable of doing it by doing it in the past.

03:26:02 - 03:26:32 | Speaker 2:

I think, Noah, you absolutely did the right thing by coming clean with that information. But I think you also have to be prepared. Obviously, whatever you had with Pam is not going to move any further. But I think you have to be prepared for in the future when you do share that information. You know the risk, right? And any woman who is dating you is allowed to do what she wants with that information. But I don't think that you stop sharing because of this. I think that's really important. It's an important piece of your story.

03:26:33 - 03:26:35 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. I appreciate that.

03:26:35 - 03:26:37 | Speaker 8:

Keep doing you, bro. She ain't ready for you.

03:26:38 - 03:26:45 | Speaker 2:

And there's nothing wrong, to Megan's point, there's nothing wrong with her saying it's just not for me. But I would have appreciated it.

03:26:45 - 03:26:46 | Speaker 3:

I think both of them are in the right.

03:26:46 - 03:27:22 | Speaker 9:

I think the sad part is though If it was that they just met And this happened But they've known each other for a while And she knows what kind of guy he is So much that she gave him a chance to go on a date And she's going to judge him off of Something that happened in his past I don't know, I think that's where it's wrong Well, I think that it's more so That you just meet and then you find something out But if you know a person And have been friends with him for a while Enough to now say we're going to take that friendship to a dating level, I think, I don't know. I think she's being a little too judgy, but second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning.

03:27:22 - 03:27:29 | Speaker 10:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update and more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

03:29:56 - 03:30:00 | Speaker 8:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year home.

03:30:00 - 03:30:41 | Speaker 3:

year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be that you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people have been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State, with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.
