This is it.

00:02:30 - 00:02:31 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:32 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 6:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:34 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo head. Here we go, bow, bow.

00:02:37 - 00:02:40 | Unknown:

Here we go, bow, bow. It's showtime!

00:02:59 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 4:

We can't catch a break, can we it's unbelievable it's like go from the polar vortex arctic freeze to snow that's causing for some crazy driving this morning good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show how are you hope you have a great morning hope you're safe this is uh dangerously like bad weather this morning so as you're uh going anywhere just give yourself a little extra time shanna how long How long do you think that this is going to be our driving conditions? Probably through the commute, huh?

00:04:04 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, for sure. Because they said scattered snow showers throughout the morning and afternoon. I truly had no idea that I was going to wake up to see several inches of snow on the ground. So if you are north of the city, it was a surprise to me, but it is like big, fluffy, white snow. And the road, especially the entrance and exit ramps, are so slippery. I slid right across the entrance ramp getting onto 75 this morning, and I was screaming in my car. It's really scary. Please be careful.

00:04:33 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 4:

And even worse than that is the fact that Lydia came in this morning, and the people from iHeartTraffic that give us our traffic reports, Heather Pascoe and all the gang, they all stole her parking spot today.

00:04:48 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no.

00:04:49 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 2:

I noticed that. She wasn't parked where she normally is.

00:04:50 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

How early do they get here? Well, their traffics start, I think, at like 5 a.m. or 4 a.m., so they've got to be here doing it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

And it's funny because I love having them here. Like, I love having people in the building compared to the old building where it was, you know, pretty much us and Allison and Chelsea from J Show.

00:05:09 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

Love them.

00:05:11 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

And Rhonda. Got to give Rhonda a shout out. Now it's like there's human beings. Like, it's nice to see them. But those human beings need to park a little bit further down the road. What if I did this? I haven't done this in a while. Well, it was a long time ago that I used to have my official Mojo parking spot. I actually have the wall hang and hung it up in our old office. What if I put that thing out of there again, but have it for Lydia? Could I get Christos? How about, could Christos talk to Mayor Mike Duggan before he leaves office and ask? Am I echoing back at myself? No. Or is that just me?

00:05:53 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm good over here.

00:05:54 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

It sounds good. I'm echoing to myself then. I'm going to talk to Mayor Mike Duggan and do an official proclamation. And the proclamation is going to be that Lydia gets her own parking spot on Orleans Street in Eastern Market.

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

I think that's fair.

00:06:11 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 2:

We'll see if it happens. We didn't even get invited to the ribbon cutting, so good luck.

00:06:15 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then we were supposed to get valet and we were supposed to get certain parking. Dude, did you ever believe... Where did the valet go? Did you ever believe that we were actually going to get valet? Do you remember when I used to say that?

00:06:24 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 5:

You guys are all like, you're being so negative. I'm like, no, I'm just being realistic.

00:06:29 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 1:

So is a dream. Do you know I did the commercials for them? I actually did the commercials for them. They must not have gotten any action off of those commercials, so they probably quit or something. But it was crazy. You're right, by the way. False promises. False promises campaigned by Colleen Grant. You're going to get valet. Valet my ass.

00:06:53 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, my car is never clean enough for me to actually use a valet anyways.

00:06:57 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 1:

I'd be too embarrassed. You know what? Honestly, I don't know if I'd want the valet to drive my car because I've seen valets drive them like they stole them.

00:07:07 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

But where would they park it at? The meat market park structure? A lot.

00:07:10 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 1:

I think they have the lot that I parking, Megan Parkson, Zach, KP. Kevin, are you in that lot or do you park on the street too?

00:07:20 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

No, I got here early enough to get a spot up front, so I'm good.

00:07:24 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so now we know who stole the spot. No, he actually stole my spot.

00:07:28 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if stole a spot is exactly the right word choice. I think if you get here early enough, because y'all always be here earlier than I do, then you get the spot that's available. You're right.

00:07:38 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 4:

I was a little later today. No, no. There's always spots, but I choose to park in that lot. I've never gotten a ticket down here.

00:07:46 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 1:

It's not even a ticket. I almost lost the rear end of my vehicle. Yeah, that too. But I will go back to what Shannon and Kev were just talking about. I always defer spots, and Shannon knows this. You do. I will not park in a spot that I know is her spot. You do. Like, even in the old building, I would leave a spot empty for her, and it used to, it kind of hurt my heart when she would not see that spot, and she would pull into another spot, and I'd be like.

00:08:12 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

You were so offended.

00:08:14 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 1:

It's like me holding the door open for you, and you don't. Have you ever had that happen? And what? I hold the door open for a lady at 12 Oaks Mall like a week or so ago. I'm like holding it, standing there, freezing my ass off. And she goes and walks to the other door.

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 5:

What vibes were you giving?

00:08:32 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 1:

I think she thought I was being like creepy or weird or something. I'm like, I'm just trying to be. My dad told me to be a gentleman.

00:08:39 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

I have noticed that people have not, men especially, have not been holding doors a lot lately. So my new thing is to say very loudly, thank you so much.

00:08:50 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 2:

See, I say when they don't hold the door. Yeah. My thing is when you hold open the door for a woman and she doesn't say thank you, my response is you're welcome.

00:08:58 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Same thing. Very passive aggressive. I know it is. Mine is dead in your face. You're welcome.

00:09:05 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

And this is why people are choosing to use a different door because of both of you.

00:09:09 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so hold on. So that's a good idea, though. I could be passive aggressive or something, right?

00:09:15 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 5:

or you could just be nice to be nice and not rub it in people's faces

00:09:19 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

my but my main goal is to just show that you know hey I really want to make your day better and her main goal is to say hey you look like a rapist or something I don't know but your goal is to make her day better

00:09:37 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 5:

but if you don't say thank you then I'm going to make sure that you know that I'm meant to make your day better and you should be grateful

00:09:42 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

I think some people sometimes just aren't aware. Because nine times out of ten, when I say you're welcome, they'll say, oh, thank you. Oh, I'm sorry. Thank you.

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

00:10:00 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 5:

Has this ever been something that you've ever had to deal with? Like maybe you've had, you know, somebody not take a kind gesture or say thank you for the kind gesture. If that's ever happened, do you call them out for it? Because I kind of like that approach. I wish I was smart enough to think of that, you know. Actually, what I should have done is I should have pretended that there was an invisible person I was letting in and going, hey, how you doing?

00:10:22 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 4:

This world is so crazy because on one hand, chivalry is dead. Men aren't gentlemen anymore. or they expect women to do da-da-da-da. And then on the other end, I guess I'm passive-aggressive because I want my thank you.

00:10:35 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 5:

Preach.

00:10:35 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 4:

You cool with not saying thank you, but then I get spit on for not holding the door open. Kevin. Which pill are you taking?

00:10:43 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 5:

Let me just say this to you. Us men need to go back to the caveman days and just being guys.

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 4:

Put her over the hand with a piece of wood and drag her to the caveman.

00:10:51 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 2:

I just believe that men used to go to war, and now men are going back and forth about whether they should get a thank you for holding the door open.

00:10:59 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 4:

What did women used to do? Lydia says men used to go to work. What did y'all used to do?

00:11:04 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 2:

We answer phones because that's what I'm doing right now.

00:11:06 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

All right, we'll get back to it.

00:11:08 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 2:

We worked in the factories, right? We kept things running.

00:11:12 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

You guys stayed home. You stayed home and looked pretty. We just need you to look pretty.

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 6:

I don't turn butter.

00:11:19 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. But I will go back to the whole parking thing. I try to, like, I think we all have been here long enough in this building, and also we've been long enough with the company, where we deserve to have the right to say that's our spots, right? I mean, and we can't have people screw it up, and that includes you, Kevin. I mean, listen, I think it's wonderful that you're here early.

00:11:49 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 4:

You can miss me with all that. I ain't hearing none of that. Wait, what did you say, Marta? If you get here early enough, you get to park where you park. Y'all spit on me all the time by how I'm showing up late. Now, not only do I get here early, I got to park further enough when this spot's available.

00:12:03 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 5:

Damn, you don't want it for me, dog. No, no. Here's the deal. Kev, if you can make it a pattern, then that officially becomes your spot, and we move Shannon down the parking list.

00:12:13 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 4:

I show you better than I can tell you. I am always here second. You are. It's Lydia and then me.

00:12:20 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. And usually that's kind of the game plan. And then it's myself and Megan and then KP and Zach and Kev way down usually. So you know what?

00:12:33 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to let him have the good sparking spot today. I'm going to let him have the good spot today. Are you going to say thank you for your own voice? Because I'm proud of him. Thank you for your generosity. I am proud of him for getting here early. Thank you, Shanna. Hold on, Billy. So kind of you.

00:12:46 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 5:

You're welcome. What's going on, Billy? It's Mojo in the morning. We're starting off, by the way, on a good note today. What's going on?

00:12:53 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 1:

Morning, everybody. Morning. So Shannon says, you know, she has that little comment when a guy doesn't hold the door. But, you know, nowadays women aren't that gracious. So I'm a big follower of the Me Too. You want your independence, that means you can open up a door. That is BS. Get off the phone. Because you're darned if you do, if you're darned if you don't.

00:13:14 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 2:

Comparing Me Too to independence tells me you don't know what Me Too is or why that was an important movement.

00:13:21 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 6:

Slam the door in their face, Billy.

00:13:23 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 3:

Phone mother ever! Talking about not getting sexually harassed to opening a door is a wild-ass comparison. Oh, my God. Women don't want to be harassed. That is ridiculous. Did he say I'm a big fan of the means?

00:13:40 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

00:13:42 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 3:

They want independence from not being assaulted. Wild take.

00:13:46 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 4:

I'm a big fan of the means.

00:13:47 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 5:

By the way, Billy is wearing his Me Too hat this day.

00:13:52 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 4:

Wild.

00:13:54 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jay, let's grab Jay. Jay, what's happening there? Fine, sir.

00:14:00 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 4:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:14:04 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, Me Too. No genders.

00:14:08 - 00:14:08 | Unknown:

Well.

00:14:09 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

So I deliver for a living, and yesterday I had to get into one of my apartment buildings, and there was an elderly gentleman in the lobby, and he graciously went out of his way to open the doors to me and then to unlock the inner door and engage me in conversation. And as I'm replying to him, he turns around and Natalie says to me, oh, you're welcome. Like, I'm still having a conversation with you. You didn't even give me a chance.

00:14:36 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that's unbelievable. So the guy actually did the whole Kev, you're welcome thing, thinking that you weren't going to say hi, but you're talking to him. Come on, buddy, open up your ears.

00:14:44 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 6:

Right, yeah. That's crazy.

00:14:47 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, have a great day, Jay. Be safe. What's up, bud? Eric, hi. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show, Eric.

00:14:56 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. First time, long time.

00:15:00 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 8:

on the phone. Thank you for calling Eric. Listen to a Megan back in Toledo in the day. I am south of Toledo a little ways listening on the iHeart app. I appreciate you. Thank you guys. We love you too. I had a lady tell me that it is 2024. She's perfectly capable of opening her own door at the

00:15:22 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 7:

mall the other day. And then you turn around and you shove her onto the ground and you close the and you lock it and you run away and did you also say ma'am it's 2025 that's what i said i've always

00:15:34 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 1:

been a nice guy sorry that's crazy though that's crazy that that somebody would that is rude holding the door open as a a non-nice gesture i don't know it's nuts uh low low is uh chivalry dead low Moe or Moe?

00:15:56 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, what? That's you. What's up? Moe.

00:16:00 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 6:

Moe. I don't know why we said Moe. No, Chivory is not dead. I'm one of those sarcastic persons. If I sneeze and you don't say bless you, oh, bless you. Thank you so much. I'm talking to myself. Oh, thank you for opening the door. Hey, yes. I don't care if I am a woman.

00:16:20 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 5:

Your mom and daddy teach you certain things Do what you need to do Be respectful Period And Mo

00:16:30 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 1:

I apologize for calling you the wrong name there I think we misheard you when you called But Mo I appreciate women like you I love women like you

00:16:38 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 6:

I love you guys You guys are lit in the morning I don't know what y'all drinking But y'all lit

00:16:44 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 1:

And listen to this Thank you for calling, Mo. I hear, see that?

00:16:51 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 7:

Just hang up, Mo. Just hang up. I bet you did.

00:16:58 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We have to go back in 10. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:07 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is time now for the back in the day. Three clues from a year. You tell us what year it was. It was the year that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married.

00:17:15 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are apologizing today for holding their 2012 wedding at a southern plantation. The golden couple tied the knot at Boone Hall in South Carolina, where slaves once lived before the Civil War. It's something we'll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for. It's impossible to reconcile, the Deadpool star says in a new interview.

00:17:38 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

That clip, courtesy of Jason Baldoni, this was the year that the campaign with Will Ferrell was in.

00:17:45 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 7:

That is painful! Staple my tits to my balls and then do sit-ups, it hurts!

00:17:50 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Sir, words like that have never been spoken in this room. But the f***ing f*** me! I'm sorry, the snake bit me. Which means you don't have the faith of God.

00:18:00 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, yes I do. God has removed the venom from my blood and the blasphemy from my heart.

00:18:07 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 1:

And a big song from Maroon 5. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. We got some tickets to go see Foster the People. We're going to be in concert at the Fillmore Theater. What year was that? Good luck to you. It's the Mojo in the Morning, back in the day. Be right back.

00:18:25 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 4:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LINE. 844-665-6548.

00:18:35 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. Mojo in the morning. Testing your memory this early in the morning. This is Mojo's Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:19:05 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 1:

It was the year that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married. There was a little controversy to the place that they got married.

00:19:12 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 3:

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are apologizing today for holding their wedding at a southern plantation. The golden couple tied the knot at Boone Hall in South Carolina, where slaves once lived before the Civil War. It's something we'll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for. It's impossible to reconcile, the Deadpool star says in a new interview.

00:19:33 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 1:

Will Ferrell starred in one of his many movies, The Campaign.

00:19:35 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 7:

That is painful! staple my tits to my balls and then do sit-ups it hurts sir words like that have never been spoken

00:19:44 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 2:

in this room but the i'm sorry the snake bit me which means you don't have the faith of god

00:19:50 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 7:

yeah yes i do god has removed the venom from my blood and the blasphemy from my heart

00:20:00 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 5:

Big song from Maroon 5, Payphone. Wasn't Kendrick Lamar also on this song, too? Wiz Khalifa. Or Wiz Khalifa, yes. That was a good song. The other rapper. What was the Kendrick song that he did with Maroon 5? Didn't he do one with Maroon 5? That's Zag World. I don't know. Hold on a second. I love Maroon 5, by the way.

00:20:20 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 4:

I do, too. I heard Sunday Morning the other day, and I was like, oh, that's a great song.

00:20:25 - 00:20:39 | Speaker 5:

Don't Wanna Know was the one we came to. Don't Wanna. Oh, that's a good one. That was a good one, too. I don't know if I remember that one. Hold on a second. I'm going to find it here in the system. Let me grab the winner first, though. Sheila, are you there, Sheila? Hi. Hello, Miss Sheila.

00:20:40 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:20:41 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 5:

Sheila, you got the year for us. What year was that?

00:20:45 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 4:

2012.

00:20:46 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 5:

Yes, give it to her.

00:20:47 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes, Sheila.

00:20:48 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 5:

Give it to her. You got tickets to go see Foster the People. We're going to set you up with those tickets. Hold on one second, okay?

00:20:59 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:21:00 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 5:

All right, don't go anywhere. Hold on, let's just say. Remember the song? Do you remember this one? No, it wasn't. I don't think it was like a huge change.

00:21:09 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 4:

It was a good song. Yeah, this is a big song. This is a good song.

00:21:14 - 00:21:36 | Speaker 5:

I don't remember Kenyan's on this. Let's play a little of it. Hold on, let's see what Kendrick is on this song. It's usually like the middle of the song where they throw a rapper in there so that... the hip-hop stations will play it or something. I don't know why I'm spending so much time on this. Well, that one's curious.

00:21:37 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 2:

You can't bail now.

00:21:39 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 5:

I know. Hold on, let's see. This is what Drake was talking about. About him selling out or what? Making verse for the 50s. All right, here we go. Here, hold on, here.

00:21:51 - 00:21:52 | Unknown:

No.

00:21:52 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, crap.

00:21:55 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Play the whole thing.

00:21:56 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 5:

You ever do this with your friends? You're like, oh, no, this is my favorite part of the song. And then you're like, ah, I can't find it.

00:22:02 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Every time I try to play that Jonas Brothers red dress with Duke Jonas and you can't actually find it in the song because it's so short.

00:22:10 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 5:

Right. Yeah. Use this time to set Shuttle 955 as a preset on your iHeartRadio app. Oh, that's a good idea. Yeah. And how about this? Why don't I give away some Kendrick tickets? Let's get it. Let's do it. All right. Here we go. There it is. Text squabble to 95500, and you can see this guy. I don't think he's going to do this song. No. I hope not. Text it. Text squabble right now to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply.

00:22:43 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 3:

You and your new man are so happy. Which is why he's DMing his ex-girlfriend behind your back. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:22:55 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on What's Trending and the Dirty on the 30. The 5 of 6.55 coming up in a little bit. Controversial Eric getting closer to 15 wins. We're going to be playing coming up here in a second.

00:23:07 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 4:

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' legal team made a move yesterday and requested a gag order be implemented against Justin Baldoni's lawyer. His name is Brian Friedman. After he released those unedited, it ends with us clips and footage and videos and threatened posting everything, all of the receipts to a website that we were going to get at some point yesterday or today. So the couple sent a letter to a judge, essentially asking him to prohibit this lawyer from talking to the media anymore, insisting that his comments could taint the jury pool should Blake's sexual harassment case actually make it into a courtroom. The couple's counsel claims that this Friedman guy has given TV interviews, He's done podcasts. He's issued inflammatory written statements and leaked information to the Hollywood Press and tabloids virtually every day since this drama started last month. More tragedy in Southern California. Yesterday evening, a brand new fire broke out along the 405 Freeway in L.A. Multiple fire engines on the scene and that blaze erupted after another one burned down more than 10,000 acres earlier yesterday. This is L.A. County Sheriff Robert Luna.

00:24:21 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 1:

We have approximately 31,000 people who are affected by our evacuation orders. Another 23,000 that are impacted by evacuation warnings.

00:24:34 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 4:

This is so sad. It does not end.

00:24:37 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Our friends Dennis and Leah's house is less than three miles from where this fire is going right now. And talking to them last night, they were freaking out. They were evacuating. they have a box and it's the box of all of the stuff that is like their most valuable of things like their possessions that they want to make sure that they save but also their documents and things like that and Dennis was like

00:25:00 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 4:

trying to convince Leah that he could take an extra set of his golf clubs with him. Priorities. It's scary. And these fires are being set by pyromaniac crazy people. Like, this is not just a fire that's being set just by the dry, you know, land or lightning that might strike or anything like that. It's people setting these fires for the purpose of possibly, I don't know, just becoming part of the news. It's nuts.

00:25:28 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm wondering how many, and I don't know, I'm just speculating at this point, how much of this is people who want the insurance money?

00:25:36 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so, because the L.A. people, you talk to people that his homes burn down, they're faced with the craziness of fighting for what they can get. I think these are people that are either environmentalists that don't want people to build all these homes, trying to maybe lessen the population. And I also think that there's just people that honestly are just sick people that, But you talk to firefighter, fire chief Harris here in Detroit. He says that there are people that back in the day would set fires to the abandoned buildings all the time in Detroit just to light a fire and see the fire trucks come out.

00:26:08 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 3:

Travis Kelsey has responded after Lil Wayne aired his beef with the Kansas City Chiefs on social media. If you didn't see this, he called them the quote unquote cheating as Chiefs on X during the division, divisional, excuse me, playoff game against the Texans on Saturday. And then in a follow-up tweet, Wayne added, it's not even impressive when you cheat and then clearly try to cheat. Just win, baby. So on yesterday's episode of their New Heights podcast, Travis and Jason addressed that controversy head on.

00:26:41 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 5:

The whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I'm sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav. Even Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne, I hate the cheating **** Chiefs. He's going **** with two Zs. Shout out to Toonsie, man.

00:26:58 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 3:

That was his response. Just very short and sweet. Just gave him a little shout out. For all of today's Dirty Ketchup on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio.

00:27:06 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 4:

Want to listen to some more Kendrick Lamar Maroon 5?

00:27:08 - 00:27:09 | Speaker 3:

We're at 6.45.

00:27:10 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 4:

I know, but that was a quick one. That was a quick one.

00:27:11 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 3:

I always only do three stories in the 6.30 Dirty Fun Fact because we're usually running very late.

00:27:16 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 4:

We were all quiet.

00:27:17 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 1:

We were very quiet.

00:27:18 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 3:

It's okay. It's okay. It's good.

00:27:21 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com. Cheat and you'll get caught. It's the War of the Roses in minutes on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55.

00:27:43 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 4:

Are we going to do the War of the Roses coming up here in minutes? KP's going to actually do this one. Not the traditional Shannon offering a dozen free roses, but we're going to do a KP call where she calls up as the girl that he potentially could be cheating with and sees how he talks to her. Maybe will he flirt with a girl that he, you know, possibly met on hinge coming up here in just a little bit. War of the Roses on Mojo in the morning. Now five at six 55 raining champ. Eric's going for 14. This guy is getting closer to coming in studio. He wants to be in studio if he does win 15 and play Shannon. Good morning, Eric. How you doing? I got bronchitis.

00:28:30 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. I haven't been feeling well for a couple days.

00:28:34 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 5:

It's been a couple days, but we're here.

00:28:36 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you have bronchitis, you ain't coming into the studio, my friend. Yeah, that's right. That would be until Monday.

00:28:42 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 4:

We'll wait.

00:28:43 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 3:

We'll wait until you're better.

00:28:45 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm serious. Hopefully by Monday. I appreciate that. Yeah, that's true. I appreciate that.

00:28:48 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 3:

I think we're soulmates.

00:28:50 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 4:

He needs to win, though. Guys, don't count his bronchitis before it's hatched because he's got to win today and he's got to win tomorrow. And again, he's going first each time because we changed it around for him because we were a little worried.

00:29:04 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 5:

You asked for a scandal, right? You said I was too boring. That's what I was looking for.

00:29:09 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 4:

Listen, no offense. I was hoping for a little bit of excitement, and my problem was that I got too much excitement out of you. So you're a challenger today from the Harper Woods area, getting ready for school today with the kids. Teresa, hi. Say hi to Eric. And Eric, say hi to Teresa.

00:29:31 - 00:29:32 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, Eric.

00:29:33 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Teresa. What's going on? You there?

00:29:39 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 5:

Nothing. I'm excited. Hello? Let's do it.

00:29:41 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 4:

You think you can take this guy down?

00:29:45 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Maybe I can.

00:29:47 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 4:

All right, let's try it. Thank you. Here we go. The 5S655, I'm locking you up in a soundproof area, Eric. Or I'm sorry, not Eric. Unlock him for a second. Will you please, Zach? We've got to unlock him, and then we're going to...

00:30:00 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

We're going to start with him. All right. Perfect. Sorry. Now lock Teresa. Teresa's going in. All right. Perfect. Thank you. Sorry about that. Eric, you ready? Let's go. Question number one. Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump sat down for his first interview since his inauguration, chatting with Sean Hannity. What does the J in Donald J. Trump stand for? Three seconds. Ooh. Three. John? Question number two. The Academy Award nominations are out this morning. Shannon will have them for you. What is the name of the statue that the winners receive? Three. Second. Three. Academy Award? Question number three. Die with a Smile has entered its third week at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Which two megastars sing that song? Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Question number four. Aaron Glenn has been hired by the New York Jets as their new head coach. What position is he leaving with the Detroit Lions? Defensive coordinator. And last but not least, question number five. You ready for this one? It's going to make us all feel old today. Tiffany Amber Thiessen turns 51 years old today. What was her character's name on the iconic series Saved by the Bell? Oh, that was Kelly Kapowski. Let's bring back our challenger. Eric, you did good. You got four to five. Four to five. Yeah. And I think you're going to kick yourself because you missed a really easy one. So, Teresa, if you are perfect, you will have beaten the champion, Eric, who has been on with us now. All right, let's do it. Question number one. Question number one. Yesterday, President Donald J. Trump sat down for his first interview since his inauguration, chatting it up with Sean Hannity. What does the J in Donald J. Trump stand for? John. One to one. Question number two, the Academy Award nominations are out this morning. What's the name of the statue the winners receive? Is it the Oscar? Yes. There you go, two to one. You take the lead. That's the only question that Eric missed. If you get the remaining questions right, you are our new champion. Question number three, Die With A Smile has entered its third week, number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Which two megastars sing that song?

00:33:02 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. Who? Three. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Yes. Three to two. Four. Question number four. Aaron Glenn has been hired by the New York Jets as their new head coach. What position is he leaving with the Detroit Lions? Defensive coordinator. Yes. Four to three. And it comes down to this. Sorry. Question number five. No, don't dinger yet. Question number five. If you get this right, Eric, we will not be bringing your bronchitis into our studio. If you get it wrong, Eric has lived for another day. Question five. Tiffany Amber Thiessen turns 51 years old today. What was her character's name on the iconic series Saved by the Bell? No, I don't. Wait a second.

00:34:10 - 00:34:10 | Unknown:

Wait a second.

00:34:11 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I don't know. I don't know. Kelly Kapowski is the right answer. Eric has survived. The beat goes on. That was a nail-biter. By the way, I got to tell you, Kevin. I've got all my boys singing here trying to help me, and nobody knew that one, and I watched it, so. Wait, what did you just say? You just admitted you were cheating. What did you say? I was not cheating. What did you say? I said they were here trying to help me, but they didn't. I know, but nobody should be helping. Nobody knew that answer. Bye. Man, oh, man. Bye. Hey, yeah, you're meant to be. That's why you're the winner.

00:35:00 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 5:

We need to get rid of this contest. I feel like we have so much cheating happening lately on it.

00:35:05 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 1:

This contest is one of my favorites. This is actually...

00:35:07 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 5:

Mine too.

00:35:10 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 1:

Believe it or not, can I give you a little tidbit? This contest is our highest rated part of the show other than War of the Roses. So we're not getting rid of anything here.

00:35:21 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 2:

It's my favorite thing we do. Why can't people just play? I know.

00:35:26 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 1:

That's all right. Hey, you know what? We got it. Don't worry about it. Eric's with us. He's coming back tomorrow. He's going for his 15th win. Will he be taking on Shannon?

00:35:34 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 5:

Feel better, Eric.

00:35:36 - 00:35:49 | Speaker 1:

Parting gift. Urban Air, thank you for sponsoring the 5 at 6.55. Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park. We're going to set you up with tickets so you can take the kids, Teresa. Perfect. Hang on one second.

00:35:49 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

Hold on one second. It's Mojo in the morning. 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

00:36:09 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 1:

It is time now for the world famous Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses. No, this ain't Ryan's Roses or Jubal's Flower Craps. This is Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. This is the originator. This is never the imitator. And this is where you, every single week on the Mojo in the Morning show, sit there on the edge of your car seat. Which, by the way, be careful because the road is bad. I don't want you getting too much to the edge. And you listen to find out what's going to happen. And today we change it up a little bit. KP's in studio with us. We're going to do a War of the Roses KP call here.

00:36:44 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters. And proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:36:51 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 1:

Olivia.

00:36:52 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:36:53 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 1:

Hey, it's Mojo in the Morning. So we're going to do War of the Roses here in a second. Actually, a different type of War of the Roses. First, though, tell us, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you?

00:37:07 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:37:08 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 1:

What is it that makes you suspicious of this?

00:37:13 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, we were friends with benefits, and then we decided to be official. And we've sort of been an on-and-off thing, but I feel like he's not really in it. and what's making you feel that way um well i feel like he's cheating because i saw a text on his laptop um i feel like he's just said we're official to keep me around what did the text say it it was from a girl it's called uh taylor hinge so he's definitely on hinge then um But, yeah, it was just really sus.

00:37:53 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 1:

Has he ever cheated before to where you're thinking, like, that just can't be her last name? What? You think her last name is Hinge? Yeah, I'm just saying. That definitely means it's dating us. I'm just saying. Are we just immediately saying he's a cheater? Yeah. By the way, he also has friends that are named Julia Tinder. Listen, man.

00:38:12 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Look, look. I'm just saying. Why even test him if we see Hinge? Why call him and why do the War of the Roses?

00:38:22 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 1:

I think to do it because we want to get proof. Let's bust his ass and let's have something to be able to kind of bust him with so that he can't sit there and lie and say that that's not true and call you crazy, probably like he does.

00:38:37 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 5:

What did the text say, by the way? Did you read the text or it just came up and you could only see her name?

00:38:42 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 4:

It only showed her name. It only said that, oh, a text from Taylor Hinge arrived. Right.

00:38:48 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 1:

I've never been on Hinge, but is that usually what it does? It does show the person's name and then says Hinge afterwards?

00:38:54 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, no. She's saying that that's what he named this girl in his phone.

00:39:01 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. I saw it on his laptop. Right. His phone was in one room with him, and I was in one room with his laptop.

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 5:

But I'm saying she actually texted him. This wasn't in an app. Yeah.

00:39:12 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Well, here's what we're going to do. We're going to call him up, and we're going to try something a little different. We're going to actually have KP from our show call him and have conversation with him like she is this girl from Hinge and just see how he talks to her. But you have to be really, really quiet. You have to actually mute your phone, too, so that he doesn't get suspicious that there's anybody else on the phone line.

00:39:40 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:39:41 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

All right? So mute your phone. And then, KP, I know you got some more information from her, but you ready to do this?

00:39:50 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 2:

Let's do it.

00:39:51 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's call them up.

00:40:00 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 4:

hello hey it's taylor from hinge oh hey yeah this is uh this is my new number i thought

00:40:17 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 5:

i'd call you oh cool thanks for calling what's going on are you at work no i'm just watching

00:40:25 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 4:

TV. Oh, nice. Okay. You? No, I'm, I'm just chilling. I just thought we'd make, you know, plans for later. We haven't, like, met in person yet, so I thought I'd call you. Oh, yeah. Yeah,

00:40:38 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 7:

yeah, yeah. Um, what's the plan for later again? I don't know. I just thought you wanted to make

00:40:42 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 4:

some, so I thought we'd talk about it over the phone instead of, like, texting. I don't have any plans. Okay, so you're okay if I, like, come there, or do you want to, do you want to come here yeah if you want to come here okay do you have roommates just so that like I'm prepared okay are you like are you looking for something more serious or like do you want to be casual

00:41:07 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 7:

yeah so I'm in an open relationship so casual at the moment would be best

00:41:13 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 4:

okay does she know does she know it's like casual yeah yeah open yeah she's fine she's

00:41:20 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 6:

okay with that yeah yeah of course he says I'm fine with this so I'm in an open relationship

00:41:28 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 4:

and uh so something more casualty does okay I just I don't know I feel like situations like

00:41:36 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 6:

this are not what it seems and I don't know no we have a great communication and so this is just

00:41:45 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

where we're at right now hey garrett yeah garrett hi i'm sorry i'm sorry to interrupt your fun that you're having here right now but garrett i don't know if you could actually hear that there was another person that was on the phone talking and that other person is your girlfriend olivia who just heard this entire conversation and doesn't seem to believe that she was in an open relationship with you. She thought that you were her boyfriend.

00:42:19 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:42:21 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Garrett, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And Olivia contacted us because she thought that you were cheating on her. Olivia, are you guys in an open relationship? Do you have an understanding?

00:42:34 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 6:

No. No, we are monogamous. We are two people only.

00:42:46 - 00:42:47 | Unknown:

Crazy bitch.

00:42:53 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 2:

So this is his little thing that he does? Is this the first time that you ever suspected him? The first time that you saw anything like this Or did you ever think that he Had ever cheated before in the past

00:43:09 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 7:

I honestly don't know I never thought he would actually do that

00:43:16 - 00:43:18 | Unknown:

Wow

00:43:18 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Well KP did a great job on that

00:43:22 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry Truly I am It hurts

00:43:25 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 2:

I wonder sometimes how many uh of these guys that are on these dating apps try to play that off like i was actually so shocked at how quick he said i have an understanding or this other relationship i feel

00:43:43 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 3:

like this is a story that he's used before yeah because it came out real easy he didn't have to

00:43:50 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

think about it you know he's bumping our calls right now too we've been trying to call him back wow there's got to be a million of these particular situations where people do this and go on the apps and if you have had this happen call up and give olivia a little bit of advice uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 olivia hang on okay this is the home of the war of the

00:44:19 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 1:

roses mojo in the morning this is the home of the war of the roses mojo in the morning

00:44:28 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning war of the roses just busted a cheater by having kp from our show call him up because he's dating a a girl that is a listener of our show but also still on hinge um a couple of uh things cool Caught on a dating app who in a relationship caught their relationship on a dating app. And then the other one is the excuse that he made of we're in an open relationship or I've been in an open relationship. I want to know. You hear these stories all the time of the excuses that a cheater makes. What excuse did they make to the mistress of why they were, you know, cheating or why they were out seeking for somebody knowing that they are in a relationship?

00:45:28 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bet that's a popular one. because then you don't have to explain away this other person that's on your social media or that you're seen out with or whatever although the other popular one too though is that you know

00:45:40 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

they're they're making the relationship or the other person the villain or how bad the relationship is 844 mojo live uh stephanie hi how you doing i'm good how are you guys we're doing okay what What did you think of that?

00:45:55 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 5:

Did you hear when he hung up the phone, he huffed like crazy bitch under his breath?

00:46:01 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Loud and clear.

00:46:04 - 00:46:05 | Unknown:

Crazy bitch.

00:46:05 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, they always seem to do that. I mean, that's another one, too.

00:46:09 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, because he got caught.

00:46:10 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:11 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 3:

You know what else I'm thinking about, too, is he had her name Taylor Hinge. I think, okay, so you couldn't even just put her in as Taylor. You had to remember that this was a person you met on Hinge. Don't you want to go through his phone so bad? and see, like, what other labels are in there of where he's most likely met.

00:46:29 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 2:

If there's one, there's probably more.

00:46:31 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 3:

Other girls, bars, other dating apps, you know, various things.

00:46:35 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Amanda?

00:46:37 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I was just going to say, Olivia, that a while ago I caught my then-boyfriend doing the same thing. We're married now. We worked things out, went to therapy. but to be honest with you for your own personal self-worth it's not worth it you will always wonder if this person is being faithful to you and i just advise you to really think about what you want to do moving forward because even if you guys can work it out the trust is damaged

00:47:05 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 2:

wait so are you still in a bad place trusting him i think i would say yes not that he's necessarily

00:47:12 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 5:

done anything but just because of my own self and where i'm at it's just it makes things really hard do you regret staying with him no i don't regret staying with him we have kids and we have a house and we built a nice life so i wouldn't say i regret it but i would say just be careful yeah

00:47:33 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 1:

i don't i don't want to uh you know reopen wounds but how did you find out did you go through his

00:47:40 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 5:

phone or um so no i didn't go through his phone um i found out through mutual friends

00:47:50 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 2:

wow man i'm sorry that that uh you had to deal with that but i appreciate you at least giving her some advice i mean she's early enough in a relationship where they could get out of this and move on with their lives what's up jake hey good morning good morning um i was just wondering um

00:48:09 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 4:

And does Olivia not live with him? Because he was really sure that he was open and available for plans later to link up with Taylor from him.

00:48:18 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't think, KP, I know you talked to her. Did she say anything to you about that? Did they live together, or what's their story?

00:48:27 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 5:

She didn't really give details. They said that they just started being official, so I don't think that they were living together.

00:48:32 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because you're right, though. He did seem like right away, like, come on over, you know. yeah listen to this text uh they uh we tried to call him and then they text us and said don't want to go on the radio i was six months pregnant and living with my significant other and i caught him cheating on me his excuse to the girl that he was cheating with was i don't think that we're really that serious so they were pregnant she was six months pregnant and his excuse was that he didn't think that they were really that serious. I don't know. Pregnancy

00:49:10 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 1:

might be a little serious. Not if you don't plan it, though. Jessica? Yeah.

00:49:16 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 2:

What's happening? Hi. What's going on? You also sent in a message to us. Which one was yours?

00:49:23 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 6:

It was the pregnant

00:49:24 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 2:

one. Were you the one that just said he was six months pregnant? Yeah. Oh, you said you didn't want to go on the radio, but you changed your mind. I appreciate that. So wait, so his excuse was, I thought we weren't serious. yeah yeah was it a was it a pregnancy that caught him off guard

00:49:41 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 6:

it was it was very early on in the relationship so yeah um it was like i think three months after

00:49:51 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

we uh so that's because kev actually said not if you didn't plan it uh but that that was your indication

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 5:

that you guys are not going to stay together and you guys aren't together right we actually are

00:50:05 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 4:

oh wow what what changed around oh he became more present and we have two kids now oh wow

00:50:15 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 5:

wow do you ever worry about him cheating anymore uh maybe sometimes oh wow see that's the tough part well we're sorry i appreciate you going on the radio with us and sending that text in What's up, Hope?

00:50:30 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so I'm going to be the bad girl and agree with the guy because far too often women find themselves in friends with benefit situations. And then they're like, they start pulling away and the guys don't want to be mean and they find out, oops, I'm in a relationship. And then all of a sudden they're just supposed to what? Repent? Delete? Like go off all these things? Get rid of phone numbers? They've probably only been official for like three weeks. I would still expect him to have numbers in his phone.

00:51:05 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 5:

And still be doing his thing.

00:51:06 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 3:

But it's one thing to still have numbers in your phone. It's another thing to be acting on.

00:51:11 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:51:13 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 4:

It's like this screams I'm desperate and just want to be with you versus, oh, we fell in love and we got closer. You know what I mean? Like, far too often, friends with benefits for women means way more than it does for guys.

00:51:32 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 5:

See, I tend to see what she's saying here. And I know, Shannon, you're shaking your head no. She's saying they just probably met each other, which they did. Olivia admitted that to us. They just started kind of hanging out with each other and started dating. And then she called it official, which sounds like very high school-y. We just became official. Right. And maybe he wasn't really thinking that they were official official. Maybe he was still out there playing around.

00:51:54 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 2:

If you're seeing other people, especially if you're baking cookies with them, you need to communicate that with your partner so everybody's on the same page and cool with what's going on. And it sounds like either way, they're not communicating. But also, they're not in an open relationship.

00:52:11 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 4:

He's a douchebag. Okay. I absolutely agree he's a douchebag. But what I'm saying is that she already knew he was sleeping with other people when they were friends with benefits. I mean, friends with benefits does not mean you are only sleeping with one person.

00:52:28 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 5:

And who knows? Maybe Olivia was one of the people that he was sleeping with and he was with somebody else at the same time. That's why we need him on the phone with us to talk to us and explain that. If he doesn't do that, he doesn't explain that to us. We don't know it. But I agree with you that you could actually see maybe there's a confusion here because they are so new in their relationship. But it still doesn't make up for like, you know, Megan and Shannon are saying here.

00:52:53 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't make up for him doing this to her, but he totally was coming up with a lie very easily. He's not a trustworthy person, but I just have to be devil's advocate. You know what I mean?

00:53:04 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 1:

Like, I appreciate it. And once you're in a relationship, you're in a relationship. It doesn't matter if it's a day old or a month old, like you've made the commitment.

00:53:11 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, exactly.

00:53:12 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:53:13 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And not in an open relationship.

00:53:16 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call. War of the Roses.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:54:12 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 5:

we will grab a winner here for our trip uh week here from visit florida and then shannon's gonna

00:54:20 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 3:

do the dirty on the 30 what's going on shannon well i want to give a shout out first to um an adorable listener that i met yesterday at the trader joe's in royal oak so hi margo if you're listening i love you she was so sweet hey margo trader joe's in bluefield hills and i met another listener yesterday mandy at bank of america i love you too mandy shouting them all out okay Look at you, running errands yesterday. Oh, I got it. With Wes being gone, I'm like checking everything that I have to do off my to-do list.

00:54:45 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 5:

Are you doing this out of nervousness still that he's out of the country? Or are you doing this because you now have a little bit of time?

00:54:50 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

After two days of travel, he just landed two hours ago. And so I feel a lot better. Another big loss for our Detroit Lions, Aaron Glenn, who...

00:55:00 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 2:

as our defensive coordinator, has been hired as head coach of the New York Jets. Terms of the deal not announced, sources tell me that he did get a five-year contract tying him to the Jets through 2029. He's inheriting a 5-12 team, but one that has several talented players in their prime. One of his biggest decisions, of course, will be quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Is he going to stay? Is he going to go? Is he going to retire? If the team moves on from Rodgers or if he decides to retire, Glenn and the new GM have pretty big decisions to make.

00:55:35 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if if this would make Aaron Rodgers say, you know what, I still want to play, you know, because I know that there's a lot of speculation. Also, what do the Jets have, Kev, as far as draft ability? Didn't they get rid of a bunch of draft picks to go get Aaron Rodgers and go get what's his name? Who's the wide receiver? That was Aaron Rodgers.

00:55:55 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 6:

Devontae Adams.

00:55:56 - 00:56:16 | Speaker 5:

Devontae Adams? Yeah. Taking these jobs are interesting. That job, I think, that Ben Johnson took with the Bears is a doomed franchise. I disagree completely. I know they've got a great quarterback. I disagree. And they're in a division that is going to be a tough one. I don't know. I think this one's a bad one, too, the Jets job.

00:56:16 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 6:

But, look, shout out to Aaron Glenn. For those who don't know, he was actually drafted by the Jets, so he gets to play for the team that he was drafted by. He deserves it. Did a hell of a job with that defense, especially with all of the injuries. So, congrats, my man.

00:56:28 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 5:

Robert Sala, come back home.

00:56:31 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 6:

Yesterday. You want Robert Sala?

00:56:33 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 5:

By the way, all my friends, my buddies in Dearborn and stuff, my buddies at the Dearborn News and Metro Detroit, they've been posting that they want to try to do a push for the Lions to bring Robert Sala, who was the coach of the Jets, a defensive, like, giant when he was with the 49ers. It'd be great to get him home here in the Lions organization. Cool.

00:56:55 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, President Trump sitting down for his first official interview since Monday's inauguration. And he did it with, to nobody's surprise, Sean Hannity. Among the topics of discussion, TikTok.

00:57:06 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 4:

TikTok is going to be sold, right? I think TikTok's going to be sold. People like Senator. I'll tell you, people want to buy it. People want to buy it. But those that say they know, say it's a spying app for the communist Chinese.

00:57:20 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 3:

But you can say that about everything made in China. Look, we have our telephones made in China for the most part. We have so many things made in China. So why don't they mention that? You know, the interesting thing with TikTok, though, is you're dealing with a lot of young people. So they love it. Is it that important for China to be spying on young people, on young kids watching crazy videos or things?

00:57:41 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't want China spying on anybody.

00:57:42 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 3:

No, no. But they make your telephones and they make your computers and they make a lot of other things. Isn't that a bigger threat?

00:57:49 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 2:

Also yesterday, lawyers for Prince Harry say he has reached a settlement finally with the Sun newspaper. It was found that Rupert Murdoch's UK media empire has indeed engaged in illegal practices relating to the prince and Meghan Markle over the years. The lawsuit accused News Group Newspapers, NGN, of illegally obtaining private information about Prince Harry and his family.

00:58:15 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 1:

News UK is finally held to account for its illegal actions and its blatant disregard for the law. It has also specifically admitted wrongdoing against Tom Watson and admitted unlawful acts by the son, as well as by the news of the world against Prince Harry.

00:58:32 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and really important as well, it also admitted it did intrude into the private life of Harry's late mom, Princess Diana. So they didn't release any terms of the settlement. One of them was this admission. The other rumored to be damages and an eight-figure payout.

00:58:49 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 5:

Man, that was going to be the trial of the century. A lot of people were saying that could have been one of the most watched trials because Harry would have to go and testify, and they would bring a bunch of people up on stage or up on the stand. So I guess the Murdochs just said, hey, we're just going to pay this thing off and get all the bad press out of the way.

00:59:07 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

And Post Malone's latest collab is with Oreo for his own special and limited edition creation. He believes he has dreamed up the best Oreo ever, which features a first for the cookie. Hey, this is a lot. It is a twisted cream center combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors. That filling is sandwiched between a chocolate and a golden cookie. So there's lots of different things happening there. Seems like too much. Each cookie also going to feature a special design that Posty picked himself, including everything from a sunflower to a pickup truck inspired by the album art for f1 trillion the limited edition oreos will be available for purchase on february 3rd if you are an oreo fan i'll try them they have a million flavors and only like two of them are bad so yeah yeah by the way i want to tease a story for next hour sturdy that i'm working on right now the

01:00:00 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 1:

The wildest dating rumor about who President Barack Obama could be dating, because remember, lots of divorce rumors and speculation about him and Michelle, an A-list Hollywood actress is the hint I'll give you.

01:00:15 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 2:

Actress, not an actor, but actress.

01:00:17 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 1:

Actress, yeah.

01:00:19 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 2:

Must be a slow day. People bored.

01:00:21 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 1:

Look at you. It is a crazy rumor, but getting some details about it right now.

01:00:26 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Don't mess with his Barack Obama. No, you'll even get... It's like Kanye, Diddy, and Barack Obama.

01:00:32 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I got a crazy Diddy and a crazy Kanye story next hour, too. Uh-oh.

01:00:36 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 2:

He's dating one of those. All right.

01:00:38 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 1:

01:00:55 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 5:

Your call may be monitored or recorded.

01:00:57 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to give away, let's see here, Hall of Fire number four. Oh, no, I can't do this one, Lydia. I'm sorry, Dina. Dina, I apologize, Dina. Unfortunately, there's contest rules. It says contest rules are here. Ohio State Buckeye fans cannot win anything from Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:21 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 4:

I bet. You know what? We're national champions, though. I can't say that. All right, yes, you are.

01:01:26 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 2:

We'll give it to you.

01:01:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 4:

I will say this. I will. I will say it, but I'm also a Lions fan.

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

So that makes it a little better.

01:01:33 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:01:34 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

They had to change the rules on how many teams were allowed in this playoff just for the Ohio State Buckeyes to finally be able to win a championship. Congratulations to you guys.

01:01:47 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. You know what, though? I was born a Buckeye, and I will be a faithful Buckeye because they gave my daughter a full ride. So I Buckeyes. I hear that.

01:01:54 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Go Buckeyes. And Ellen, our old producer on the show and a lifelong friend of us, she's a Buckeye. And I would have to hear her when she was producing the show all the time, tell me how she was a Buckeye.

01:02:06 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm not that Buckeye fan, though. That's mean about it. To me, it's all in fun competition. And I've got a few friends that we tease each other during the games, but it's all in good fun.

01:02:18 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

I used to tell Ellen all the time, I said, yeah, you're a Buckeye because you couldn't get into Michigan State. And she's like, no, I got into Michigan State. I chose not to go to Michigan State, where her mom is.

01:02:26 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, snap, she's that backfired.

01:02:28 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, her mom is a Spartan. All right, congratulations. You got a $50 cash card. You're now qualified for a trip to go to Florida. Fort Myers.

01:02:38 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 4:

I would say right now is the best place to go, but they're not far behind us right now. I know.

01:02:42 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

Did you see the snow that they had up in the Panhandle area?

01:02:45 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 4:

I did. I'm like, that's the pretty place to be right now. What's going on?

01:02:50 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

The only place that's warm right now is where there's fires, and that's California, for God's sakes. I am good on that. We're giving you, I know, exactly. I'll take the cold. Congratulations. You got a $5 cash card, but let me plug these guys. If you win, you'll get round-trip airfare. You'll get car rental. You'll also get a stay at the Margaritaville Beach Resort. You'll get some excursions. Thanks to our friends at Kayak Excursions and then Lovers Key State Park and the Florida State Parks. They're going to give you some passes to go there. It's all brought to you by Visit Florida. Congratulations.

01:03:23 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:03:24 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 2:

Thanks. I loved the little squeal. Go Buckeyes. We'll say that. You guys get that for at least next year.

01:03:31 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:03:32 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

But Michigan has a rebuild coming. Ron Bellamy assures me of that. So Coach Bellamy listens to the show. Set up my boy Bryce. Mojo on the morning show. Kevin, I feel like you're my son, Luke. You say that. I heard this, that you and Luke, I know, get along so well, too. But I always get on him all the time because I pay for his phone. And thank God I don't pay for your phone. But it finally bit you in the ass. And what would you like to say, Kevin?

01:04:02 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm not going to say y'all were right, but you just said it. It finally bit me in my ass. I have an iPhone 13, okay? I've had this phone for quite some time. And it has fallen before, but it is never broken. And I, ten toes down, you got a better chance of moving the Statue of Liberty than you do me. I'm standing on business, will never, ever utilize an OtterBox or whatever kind of phone protection device you all use because I think I'm too mature to walk around with a big-ass case to protect my phone. And I've stood on that forever. And who I blame is Dr. Reynolds, who we know and love. I blame his daughter because Dr. Reynolds and the family came out to the Pistons game over the weekend, and she was like, you don't have a phone case? You don't have a phone case? You don't have a phone case?

01:04:50 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe it either.

01:04:51 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Bruh, yesterday, I'm on the phone with Jasmine, Josiah's mom, trying to figure out some stuff. Laughing.

01:05:00 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 6:

up to the grocery store because i gotta get some fruit wash so i can wash my fruit i get out the car i got my meta glasses on like i do now so i'm not talking on the phone phone i'm talking on my glasses get out the car all i hear is bang i don't think anything of it because it's happened before the phone is face up so i'm like okay yeah definitely not gonna crack the back i turn it around, it looked like Thor's lightning strike. The whole entire face. But it's cracked though. Crack is wet. The whole back of my phone is cracked and now I'm like, I guess it's just time for a new one. I mean, it is.

01:05:41 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 4:

You're still not going to... Honestly, how do you even hold your phone without a case? With my hands. Isn't that awkward?

01:05:50 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 5:

It doesn't. Oh, it doesn't. You don't subscribe to Shannon's Loopy Cases?

01:05:55 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 4:

Cupcake 10?

01:05:55 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:05:55 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 4:

I'll get you 10% off. Cupcake 10 Loopy Cases. But here's the thing. I'm not joking, though. Like, regardless of what case you use, I don't know how you hold. Like, if you don't have something on it that's, like, grippy, I don't know how you even hold your phone or, like, take pictures.

01:06:08 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 6:

Like, it's too slick? Are you saying like that?

01:06:10 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We don't all have baby hands. Yeah. No, this is for anybody. This is for anybody. Because you've got, like, a little, like, a six-year-old. You know what I mean? Just tiny little. Oh, that's a certain finger.

01:06:21 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 6:

A piece of me feel like we pay too much money for these beautiful-looking devices. I have a beautiful blue kind of tent on my phone. Why am I paying all this money for this phone to hide it? Yeah, to protect it.

01:06:31 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 2:

But when you break a phone, you don't fix it, you don't replace it until the glass actually falls out and you cut yourself. That's rule number one. Rule number two is we don't get a brand-new $1,300 phone because we cracked the screen. We spend $100 to fix that glass.

01:06:45 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 4:

But that's your camera. Aren't all your pictures going to be screwed up now? No, no, no.

01:06:49 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 6:

The back is great. the camera up top is great it's just like this bottom little part by the apple i see you know

01:06:55 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 5:

what i do with my kids i make them have the phone and they have to walk around with it broken even if it does cut their fingers up i'm like you know i don't care about that and they don't get a new phone right away they actually have to pay for their phones they have to save up their own money so this is stuff that you have to do although i know you pay for it i'm about to say who are you talking to and then it and it even comes to a point because luke does this all the time first off it's it's not uncool there are cases that don't look like otter boxes you don't need to have the otter box that is that otter box was meant for the first versions of these phones that literally if you touch them they broke these ones are more you know durable but a regular case i don't understand they have cases by the way that look cool kevin you can get a kendrick lamar case

01:07:42 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 6:

if you'd like but i also feel like the phones cost so much to where they shouldn't just shatter when you break them. Again, I've dropped my phone before. Again, this is an iPhone 13. It's not like I got it yesterday. My phone has fallen before, and it's durable, and they should be durable. It shouldn't just have to shatter, and that's the reason why I get a case.

01:08:02 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 5:

The funny thing is when you get an iPhone, and you're right that they should be more durable, they focus on the color that you want. Do you want the silver, or do you want the pink, or whatever, the purple, and yet you cover that color up with a black case or whatever it is?

01:08:18 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 4:

You know, I think it's so funny. I just got a new phone a couple of months ago, like right before Christmas. When you get that fresh phone, you are so careful with it. You like put it in your couple. I am so careful. And now I just throw it in my purse. I throw it on my passenger seat. I do not care. It's like a new pair of shoes. It's great for two weeks. You are so careful with it. And then it's like, whatever.

01:08:39 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Kayla, what's up? Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Kevin's going to be walking around with bloody fingers because of his broken phone.

01:08:48 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 1:

hi kayla hi what's up first time long time what's going on uh yeah so i just wanted to say that when i was in florida a few months ago it was my first day on vacation it was raining and i slept and fell in a puddle and i cracked the The back of my phone, the front of my phone, and all of my cameras.

01:09:16 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. It's fun. It's crazy. You're lucky you didn't crack your head open, for God's sakes. Although you'd probably be more upset about cracking your phone than cracking your head open, wouldn't you?

01:09:27 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Probably, but I'm sure the hospital bill is still a little bit more expensive.

01:09:32 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 5:

Probably to say. It is funny, though. These cases are not as cool as they should be. Like, you'd think with technology, they would come out with some kind of a, I don't know, like a laminate type thing. Like, you can wrap around this. I know that, you know how they have the kiosk at the mall? At 12 Oaks Mall in Novi, they have a kiosk there where the guys sell cases. Why don't they wrap it up in cellophane or something?

01:09:58 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Bro, the iPhone innovation.

01:10:00 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 4:

died with steve jobs yeah once he left everything was gone over uh nick would like to make a comment on something kevin said that was not his phone related what did you want to say nick

01:10:10 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 2:

oh hey uh well first of all long time listener second time caller for that i feel like that's the way you guys screen stuff i feel like that's okay Worth a horn. But anyways, Kevin, what the hell is fruit wash? You've never heard of fruit wash? No, I haven't either.

01:10:32 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 3:

If you look on, maybe I'm not pronouncing it correctly. Maybe it's got like a different name. Like water? No, bro. It's different than that. Some people use apple cider vinegar and bacon soda. But when you buy your fruit from the growth, no. When you take a shower, do you just use water? Okay, then.

01:10:49 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 4:

You don't even take a shower. Do you get that one?

01:10:52 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 3:

just because you want to take shots and now you can finally wash your back don't mean you got to keep coming at me now look so some people use apple cider vinegar and bacon soda but water just doesn't get off all of the bacteria that you can potentially consume if you just an apple picker you have the grapes in the bag and just eat them you got to wash them off

01:11:15 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 2:

it makes sense now because you're I'm the ass gasket guy by the way back when you were talking about loading it up with toilet paper before you sit down.

01:11:26 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God, I actually do remember you.

01:11:30 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 4:

Ask Gasket Nick, thanks for calling out Kevin's fruit wash. We appreciate you, buddy. Take care of yourself, man.

01:11:37 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 1:

First, there was the iPhone, then the iPad, then the iPad mini. Now Mojo in the Morning presents the iPoke. What's the iPoke? Just put your eye up to the radio and we'll show you.

01:11:47 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, son of a... Mojo in the Morning.

01:11:50 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Coming up here in just a little bit, a dating update from KP, otherwise known as Kristen. She's going to have a dating update.

01:12:06 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Very formal.

01:12:08 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 4:

That's on the way in just a matter of moments. Don't go anywhere. Get ready for this. She'll probably tell us 100. No, maybe not 100. She'll tell us about 10% of the truth about her dating life. that's coming up here in just a little bit. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon, this is a pretty funny story. So have you ever had a situation happen to you where your kids cost you a ton of money? What happened, Shannon?

01:12:34 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 5:

I mean, that's every day for every mom and dad. Right. But I was at my sister Jacqueline's house last night, and I was hanging out with my nieces, my little Stella and Navy. And Stella is four, and she loves having dance parties. so we are in the kitchen she's obsessed with Harry Styles Megan love her and so we were dancing and my sister makes a sarcastic comment about all of the quote-unquote free music that they are getting now which actually wasn't free she was like I said being sarcastic because apparently Alexa had asked my niece when she was having a dance party a couple of weeks ago if she wanted to purchase an 18-month Amazon Music Unlimited Family Plan subscription. And she screamed yes. That's how she should. That's how she should. And my sister's credit card on Bible got charged. And she just found out about it. Oh, that's bad. And she was like, so no, we have an 18-month Unlimited ad-free subscription to Amazon Music Family. Hell yeah, girly. Hell yeah. You put you first. I'm like, that is very dangerous that Alexa just asks

01:13:45 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 4:

those questions randomly you know what stella can get away with it because she's so damn she is so

01:13:50 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 5:

damn cute actually though how is that allowed because my Alexa all the time is like hey there's a deal on something you buy a lot do you want me to purchase it and send it your way right now if you if you say yes it just charges your card that's ridiculous it's got to be like a second

01:14:03 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 3:

layer for identification or a code you got to say no I know there's not but that's what I mean

01:14:10 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 5:

yes I'm sure there is like you could block it by going into your account but my sister wasn't even aware that that had happened until she was going through her credit card charges and saw that and

01:14:19 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

was like what the heck i never did that 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 it reminds me of the five lies we had uh with horny henry and uh henry uh ordering stuff on his grandma's porn hub or that account a kid it's funny how kids kids can get away with it or kids can do certain things or get certain things. Luke used to have Chelsea's credit card attached to his account when he was a little kid. And then finally, Chelsea was getting all these charges and realized she had used it one time and then he had, you know how you click the button that says save this card? Yes. And it doesn't ask you.

01:15:00 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

for the, was it SVC? The CBV? CBV. Whatever, the code. The three-digit code, whatever that is. So he was ordering stuff all the time. So things would come to the house, you'd be like, how the hell is this kid getting money? Find out that Chelsea's got it on her credit card. Yep. I'd be pissed. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, Texas 95500. A couple of texters that just heard this story, and real quick, you got to call up and tell us, or maybe Lydia will call you, one of them said the same thing happened to us. My kids were just ordering things on our Alexa. I wonder how much stuff gets ordered before you realize it. Like, what's that 18-month membership cost?

01:15:42 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. I didn't ask my sister too much.

01:15:46 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 2:

Courtney, what's up, Courtney? Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Did you have this happen to you, Courtney?

01:15:53 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 3:

So I have that turned off, but my kids will ask Alexa what's out for delivery, and it will tell them what's coming.

01:16:01 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

I hate that, by the way. I got to figure out how to turn that off because I have one of those, I think it's called an Alexa show in my kitchen. So it's like the mini TV screen and it shows you what's out for delivery. So if it's a gift or something or if I ordered something I don't want them to see, it's on there.

01:16:17 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

You would think at Christmas time that would automatically be something that they would disable. You know? Yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. How's the sound? Tavion, what's up, Tavion? Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. What's going on?

01:16:31 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you? First time, long time listener. Hey, Tavion's on the phone. So my little brother has my PlayStation account connected to his. And so one day I'm at work chilling. I go and get a notification, $600 purchase has been bought. And, you know, it's a shocker, obviously. i'm at work not at home playing the game so i look i see what playstation it is my little brother decides to purchase about seven eight nine different games plus the add-ons with them plus the extra little stuff that goes with it so i called him i asked him i said hey what are you doing he's i'm just playing a game and i said you are he said uh i'm playing the six games i just bought i said how did you buy them did you buy them for mommy he said no i just i just clicked on them, and they were bought. I said, yeah, because you just charged my card. Are those games that expensive?

01:17:29 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 1:

Holy crap.

01:17:31 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 6:

When the games first come out, they're like $65, $75. Like, Fortnite has skins, obviously. You can buy, like, $20 for a skin, stuff like that.

01:17:42 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 2:

What's the most expensive, I wonder, that somebody's ever spent on Fortnite buying those?

01:17:47 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 6:

Personally, I'm saying $350.

01:17:50 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 2:

I got the same skin it came with. I ain't bought a damn thing. For real, I got the OG skin.

01:17:58 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 7:

Don't ask me how much I've spent on The Sims.

01:18:01 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 2:

What's up? How much?

01:18:03 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, hundreds?

01:18:05 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 2:

Thousands?

01:18:06 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 7:

Thousands? I have no idea. I've been playing it since I was in the third grade. I don't know. It's a lot of money. There's a lot of expansion packs. Oh, no. Leave me alone.

01:18:17 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live. birdie uh what's up birdie it's going on what did you find your son doing i woke up one morning and

01:18:24 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 4:

he was out in the living room and he was watching something and i was like oh that looks really cool what are you watching and he's like i'm watching jurassic park and i go oh i didn't know they have that on a streaming service and he was like they must and then it kind of dawned on me that i really don't think they do and i checked my card and lo and behold he bought a bundle pack it was all of the Jurassic Park, including the new one, and then he was trying to be nice, so for his sister, he also bought the Barbie movie. I'm looking out. That is very kind. Honestly, you've got to give him props. You've got to be proud. We both have something to watch, and I was like, that's not how this works. I was like, you could have heard of a cake since you bought it, and he was like, well, you have money. You have a job.

01:19:09 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Yeah, they think it grows on trees. Stephanie, Listen to how much money on this one. Stephanie, how much on that game app there did you buy?

01:19:18 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. First time, long time. Stephanie's on the phone.

01:19:24 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie.

01:19:26 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 5:

My son spent $1,200 on a game on his phone, and it was just like little charges at a time, so like $199, $299. And I finally caught it, and when I called Apple, they went through all of the charges that he had spent over the course of like months did you get your money back i did get my money back yes oh that's great that's good that's amazing watch out

01:19:51 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 2:

for that kid i like this one i like the funny things that people purchase josh tell everybody what your son ordered We'll be right back.

01:20:00 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Josh.

01:20:02 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Yes, hello. Good morning. Morning. Hey, it's Josh, right? Son of a gun. How are you? Oh, my God.

01:20:07 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, buddy?

01:20:09 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. So my wife and I got home one day, and there was a box. There was a box from Amazon sitting on the front porch. And we're like, is your son? Is your son? No. No. We opened up. It was a five-pound bag of gummy bears.

01:20:25 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Now we're talking.

01:20:25 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 3:

That my son had ordered off of Amazon because – off of the Alexa because it was during when that gummy bear song was popular. Oh, God. And we were trying to play the gummy bear song. Yeah.

01:20:37 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 1:

How long did it take you guys to go through a five-pound bag of gummy bears?

01:20:41 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 3:

I mean, at least an hour. We were –

01:20:44 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 1:

Josh is being honest. This is the funniest one. Monica. Monica, we were talking about how Shannon's niece made a purchase and mom and dad didn't realize until afterwards, what was the purchase that was made, Monica?

01:21:01 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 4:

So my boys, we had the same thing, Shannon, with the Amazon Shower Echo. And they purchased a fart subscription. Wait, wait. Hell yeah, dude. I kind of love that. Hell yeah. Tell me more. It was only a couple dollars a month, but my boys were going around and there was constant, like, farting sounds throughout the house. And then, lo and behold, of course, you know, we noticed it's added charge. And, yeah, that's how we found out. I think I'm going to go home and do that. I'm honest.

01:21:32 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to do this right.

01:21:34 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't sound very commercial-free to me, but hey, as long as we don't have to hear a bunch of commercials and Top Dog Law.

01:23:19 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 2:

All right. Top Dog Law. Top Dog gets you Top Dollar. You know what, though? It's called TopDogLaw.com.

01:23:27 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 5:

Everybody talks about it. Everybody listens.

01:23:30 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 1:

I love it. I love it.

01:23:31 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 5:

That works.

01:23:33 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Believe me. All right. It is Mojo. We should get that guy on the show. It's funny. Other morning shows get celebrities. We get the top dog law guy as an interview on our radio show. All right. It is Mojo in the morning show. So KP, you mentioned something on our show not that long ago, and we never explored it more. She is now dating a guy, or she doesn't like to call it dating. What do you like to call it, KP?

01:24:02 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's dating when you're not official. Dating is like you're being courted. That's how I describe dating.

01:24:09 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 1:

Are you official yet?

01:24:10 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 5:

So I'm seeing someone, yes.

01:24:12 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 1:

So you're seeing somebody. But this seems very official to me. You're going on a vacation with a guy you just met?

01:24:20 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Okay, wait.

01:24:23 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 1:

So you're not official, but you're going away on a vacation with him.

01:24:27 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 5:

I guess that does kind of make things a little more serious. I mean, he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet, but he's asked me to go on vacation with him. And how long have you known this guy? Not very long. Maybe four weeks.

01:24:43 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:24:44 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:24:44 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 1:

So how many dates or how many times out have you gone on? Because I guess I don't know if you've gone on dates.

01:24:51 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 5:

I think I've seen him maybe 20 times. So 20. Oh, so you guys hang out a ton. We hang out a lot. Okay. Like I would say- Your place or his place?

01:25:00 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 4:

other day when we go out we we do stuff we grocery shop we go to the gym he's been whose house do you

01:25:07 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 3:

stay at the most probably mine because i work you do that a lot why do these guys always come to

01:25:12 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 4:

your place she has a cool apartment in the city well and also i have a i'm just i get up really early and it's just more convenient when they come to me see that's where i disagree because if you're at their place you can leave instead of kicking them out unless you let them stay at your place i don't mind them just chilling while i do work oh brah see i have a bigger problem with that than you going on vacation with somebody really yeah why why would you let somebody in with your stuff uh because if you like someone you don't really care like i i i feel like i'm at the point with this guy where i like him enough that i let him just kind of be around while while i live my life yeah and that's kind of why i agreed to go on vacation with him because i actually like hanging out with him and i think we're actually going to become serious where are you guys going um it hasn't been decided yet it's it's actually not a vacation for the two of us it's for his friend group and he's inviting me as his couple because it's a couple's vacation oh nice oh okay to me that's more pressure kp yeah yeah there's a bunch of different things up in the air i think they want to go to florida um like there's a couple different spots in florida that they're thinking about going somebody mentioned a cruise i don't know about that oh my god a cruise would

01:26:25 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 3:

be crazy like you're on you're trapped on a boat i don't know if i would do that yeah i don't i'm not a huge fan of the cruise idea no all right so let's open this up here let's have a little open discussion here a little family meeting guys we're gonna have a little family meeting by the way uh please keep uh kp's phone away from her so that her mother doesn't text her 8 000 times

01:26:44 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 4:

oh my god does mama kp know about this mama she doesn't know on our show she knows about the vacation part she doesn't know the details yet okay well she does not agree with me going on

01:26:55 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 3:

vacation with anybody you're doing anything ever i've learned this with my sons i can't i have no say so anymore because i'm not paying their taxes that's right mom what do you want from me he's catholic there's nothing else that's good you guys go to church together ever heard we are we are this weekend actually that's cool so all right so a couple questions i want to ask we're gonna have a family meeting dad and mom are here me and shannon who are we the cousins or like who are we aunt megan uncle i actually i think i'm gonna have a different opinion than you and usually mom and dad need to be on the same page let's hear it well my opinion i don't know you'll be surprised by this i actually think that this is okay me too and i'm gonna tell you and i'm okay and i know you would think that i would be more protective of kp i think it's okay but i do have stipulations i don't think you guys should stay in the same uh hotel room because nothing worse will happen than you guys get into a fight and you got no place to go to especially if you go to like to florida and it's a packed travel time down there i could just lock myself in a cabana i just think you

01:28:02 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 1:

have to be really you know cautious which i know you are and um i think that you need to know that it's okay to like get the heck out of there if things don't work out but i also think that When you are like when you know that something's good and yes, it's only been four weeks, but you've spent, you know, the better part of every single day together. I mean, I think back to when like Wes and I started dating you after a month, it's like, you know, if it's going somewhere or, you know, if it's not. So I do think it's OK to take that step. You just need to be really cautious that you're not going to end up on the date line.

01:28:34 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 4:

Like I've asked or I've had guys who in the past have asked me to go on vacations and plan vacations. And I have said, no, like, let me check my schedule. I have no idea, but when he asked me, it was like right away. If your gut's saying fine, yeah. Is he paying for it? Uh, he's paying for most of it. That's okay. What does that mean? He just gotta pay for travel? Yeah, I'm not gonna make him pay entirely for me. Did he offer?

01:28:58 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 2:

He like, let me pay for it? No, I'm not gonna. Be careful. I just asked if he offered. That's all I'm asking. I don't know. Be careful

01:29:04 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 3:

because then he has expectations if he's paying

01:29:06 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 2:

for it. The reason why I asked the question is because I think it might have been Shannon who said separate rooms or you said separate rooms. I'm like, I'm not taking

01:29:12 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 1:

See, I just said, regardless of who is paying, like, if things are not going the way that you want them to, or if you're feeling uncomfortable, know that it is okay to figure out how to get yourself home. That's why the cruise is not a good idea.

01:29:25 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 2:

But there are expectations if he paying, though. He not paying for you just to be his friend on the island. Well, by the way, screw that. I don't care if you're paying. I don't care.

01:29:35 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 4:

If we going out of town, we smashing. Stop the cat. I mean, no, I don't think there should be an expectation, but I think that there should be an understanding that he's interested in me more than friends. So romantically, I would like to be in a relationship with you.

01:29:48 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

But wait a second. I also think, KP, that if you guys are taking a trip together, that's like girlfriend, boyfriend.

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Y'all probably already smashing. So they probably ain't even no thought. We are not. Like, I don't like that he's like.

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if we're official yet. You're going on a trip together. I feel like he wants to ask, but he's trying to read me, and I'm a little hard to read.

01:30:07 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 1:

But would you say yes if he said, hey, I want this to be a committed thing?

01:30:12 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 5:

Is he listening right now?

01:30:13 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I'm just assuming, because I know he is a listener. Be truthful, bro.

01:30:19 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 5:

I would say yes. I would be yes. I would say yes.

01:30:22 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 7:

You're not going on a trip if you're not going to say yes, I want to date you. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I know our listeners get very protective, but I would like to know if anybody's ever done this, where you just met somebody in less than four weeks, you're going away on a trip together. I have not heard from your sister, Megan, on this one. Megan, your thoughts on this? What are your thoughts?

01:30:44 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

I think you need to have the conversation about whether or not you're a couple before you go, but I'm, like, all for it if you're comfortable.

01:30:50 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 5:

Well, the trip is in, the trip is going to be end of April, so that's a ways away. Okay. And I have a feeling that we will become an official couple before then.

01:30:58 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 2:

I think you need to have that conversation before you agree to go on the trip.

01:31:02 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 5:

What do you think changes if he says no or he says yes? I wouldn't go on the trip. If you're not a couple. I wouldn't have agreed to go on the trip if I didn't feel the vibes that he wanted me to be his girlfriend. If I felt like he was only asking for fun time, I probably wouldn't have agreed to it. Fun time meaning just using me for one thing.

01:31:21 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 7:

As a guy, because I am a guy, I would say this. If I'm hanging out at your place all the time and I am actually going to go to church with you, which, by the way, that was my move with Chelsea. My move with Chelsea was I went to church with her because I wanted her to know that I actually cared that much about her faith. I think when you're going to church with her, this guy wants to be your girlfriend. He's invested. Nobody's going to a boring one-hour Catholic mass if he's not invested. What's up, Grace? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:31:50 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 6:

Be surprised with me, I do.

01:31:53 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 7:

What's going on, Grace?

01:31:55 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:31:57 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:31:57 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 3:

So I'm, so I'm, I was listening in and I'm Caldean. So she was like saying that like, she's going like, we're on vacation with someone who's not even like a boyfriend. Like that would not be allowed for us. Like you're not allowed to go, even if you're engaged. It's like an iffy. Like I'm engaged right now and I probably wouldn't be allowed to go on vacation.

01:32:20 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 7:

But here's the deal. You're, you, and Grace, I know a lot of Caldeans. You would still go. you just wouldn't tell your brothers or your dad you would just you would hide it like the older

01:32:31 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 3:

the older i get i'm like i don't want to like give into that you know like i want him to be like okay like she's waiting until marriage that means like she's good and has morals kind of

01:32:42 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 5:

nothing against you kp's got morals i just like to go uh go lay in the sun and drink

01:32:50 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 7:

margaritas nothing else grab doug because doug you guys were dating for how long and went away

01:32:58 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 6:

dougie doug hello hey what's up brother um yeah so so look my my now fiance we've been together for almost five years now we'll be five years in april um within the first month of us going out We took a full-on vacation during COVID to Miami. We took a little mini vacation to Key West. We rented a Mercedes. We went on these sunset cruises and did all kinds of stuff. And I'm telling you, man, if you're serious about this guy and this is the best way for you guys really to spend time and get to know each other and feel out the rest of the relationship, it's going to foreshadow the rest of your relationship.

01:33:41 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 5:

That's honestly how I'm looking at it. i'm i'm viewing it as a very good date like this is gonna be there it is so fun for both of us and there's no better way to get to know someone than to travel with them it's like the bachelor

01:33:53 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 7:

i completely agree yeah it's true the bachelor's episode four they always go away somewhere don't

01:33:59 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 2:

they i get nervous for you only because i've never gone on a vacation with a guy that went well really oh my god oh my god i broke up with a dude on a family vacation with him and we had to

01:34:09 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 5:

finish the vacation oh see i've had opposite experiences i dated someone for almost five years and we went on family vacations all the time and i had so much fun yeah so like i i guess i'm not really tainted about going on vacation with a guy hey madison what's going on hi hi mad

01:34:26 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 4:

hello there madison hi um i'm calling for kp i had met a guy who's now my husband but After two weeks, he invited me. He took a van out to Colorado and asked if I wanted to go. And I remember asking my dad, you know, what should I do? And he said, let it rip, honey. And I did. And we've been married now. We've been together for over five years. You got into a van with a strange man?

01:34:54 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 7:

I wouldn't do that. Remember that girl, the girl from Florida? Yes.

01:34:58 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

You picked me up, too.

01:35:00 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 1:

Ended up dying, and the guy killed her. That's not her story, though. I know. Madison. Are you guys still together, Madison?

01:35:07 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 4:

They're married, right?

01:35:08 - 01:35:08 | Unknown:

This is fun.

01:35:09 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 4:

It was kind of romantic. He had a Home Depot bucket with a toilet seat. Oh, my God.

01:35:16 - 01:35:16 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:35:17 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 5:

You skip the part where you close the door in the bathroom, and you're just pooping in a toilet. They're going right to it. They're doing it right in the back of the van.

01:35:23 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 4:

We got really close, but I don't know if we would be together if we hadn't taken that trip. You know, it was really fun. I totally say let it rip.

01:35:33 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Literally in the bucket. Yeah. Hold on. Listen to this one. Kim, are you there, Kim? Hey, Kim.

01:35:44 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you?

01:35:46 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Kim, tell everybody how quick of a turnaround from meeting him to going out on a vacation with him was.

01:35:53 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

um so I met him on a Friday um and he asked me on Saturday to go to Myrtle Beach with him the following week and I went oh my were you nervous that's really fast I was but he was um the best friend of really good friends of mine and so I trusted them because he had been friends with her husband for like 20 years and um so i i didn't feel i didn't feel uncomfortable just because they uh said he was he was fine to go with that's unreal and you guys got this same

01:36:36 - 01:36:42 | Speaker 1:

room or did you do the separate room thing like we've been talking about no it was um it was like

01:36:42 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 2:

a condo his mom had like a timeshare down in myrtle beach and we went with and it was one of his friends that also went so it was like the three of us so I ended up dating him for a couple of months but it was a long-distance relationship that just didn't work out until his mom's timeshare

01:37:00 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 1:

ran out I like Jacqueline's grabs a line six on this one here because Jacqueline is with us and for those that are listening KP just met a guy within four weeks of meeting they're going away on the trip. What's going on, Jacqueline?

01:37:16 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 3:

You know what, KP? Just do it. Who cares if it doesn't even work out? I literally met someone on Tinder, and the first time I ever met him was when he picked me up to go camping with the family, because I was bored that weekend. Oh, my goodness. Wow. It didn't work out, but I still like camping, and we had a great time. It was super fun, and I mean, it's just for the memories. I mean, you can't miss out on a trip. It's still a trip

01:37:39 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 5:

no matter what. He liked you when you were camping, Smelly. That's a different

01:37:43 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 3:

kind of love I know all right well I think we all get to meet this guy before

01:37:52 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 1:

you go away so we at least when the cops come and investigate this whole thing and we could say all right this is what he looked like you know I just want to make sure that we can arrange in studio visit by the way can we know his name the last guy's name was Zack because you are Zack here is is there anything with What's this guy's name?

01:38:10 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 5:

His name is Zach as well.

01:38:11 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 1:

No, come on. I'm actually not kidding.

01:38:14 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 5:

His name is Zach.

01:38:15 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 1:

What is your deal with dating Zach?

01:38:17 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I just like Zach's.

01:38:19 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 1:

Does he spell it right or does he spell it wrong?

01:38:21 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 5:

No, he spells it a different way. Oh, really? I now have a Zach, Z-A-C-K here in the studio. Old Zach was Z-A-C-H. New Zach is Z-A-K.

01:38:35 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 2:

You better label them all something different in your phone. I'm about to test them all the same time. Because something's going to get mixed up.

01:38:41 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 1:

This is craziness. I think there's only one Zach in our world, right, guys? Tell them. Yeah. Not the little one. That's right. All right. Producer KP loves country boys like a farmer loves his John Deere.

01:38:55 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 5:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:58 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Somebody on this show has me blocked, and I would like to call them out because I've been trying to call them and every time I call I get voicemail and when I mean voicemail I'm not talking about it rings a whole bunch of times and they're just ignoring my call I'm talking about I'm going right to voicemail and I actually did a google on this one I did the google search I went to the googles as Kevin always says and I found the ways that you can tell if somebody has blocked you so I'm going to read those coming up here in just a second but I would like to ask this question before i tell you who this person is who do you have blocked or who has blocked you will you call up and share with us at 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i have been blocked by one megan mick do you guys know her at all you guys heard it sounds familiar you want to no oh i know exactly

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

what happened, but I'm

01:40:00 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 2:

let his his boomer butt keep going i have been calling i told megan i said to megan i said hey i'm gonna give you a call i wanted to just uh catch up on a couple of things and i had actually one thing specifically to talk to her about uh that is that she was going to uh win a money contest oh unfortunately she didn't answer my call so she doesn't know i was like wait And I call her phone. It goes right to voicemail. And yesterday it came to a point where I let myself get to the level of leaving her a voicemail message. And the voicemail message that I left was, I'm bringing this up as a topic. Every time I call you, it goes right to voicemail.

01:40:48 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Do you want me to play the voicemail?

01:40:50 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Please, please.

01:40:51 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 4:

Play the voicemail. I should have grabbed the audio, but I'll just play it into the microphone. Hold on. That's good. Is this on speaker? We'll do it on speaker. Block people's phone numbers. Oh, wait, wait. Hold on. Shoot, shoot, shoot. Pause. God, stupid iPhone. Who's the boomer now?

01:41:05 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 2:

I swore to you, but watch the dumb button just in case.

01:41:07 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:41:08 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm convinced that you have my number blocked because every time I call you, it fast goes to voicemail. Maybe this should be a topic. I should make this a topic. black people's phone numbers because i've tried to call you the last three or four days it always goes hi thanks for calling leave me a text message okay that was really good i love by the way i love the text message people uh you and shannon both have this don't don't leave me a message on the machine that is meant for messages just send me a text message that i won't return because if i

01:41:45 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 3:

first off i'm not gonna listen to your voicemail i just won't and so i am anything you need from me

01:41:51 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 2:

you're not going to get. So Megan, what's the story here? What's going on? What did I do?

01:41:56 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 4:

So the story is I was on the personal, you cannot block or you cannot send me any notifications from anybody yesterday when you called. So I have it set up to do not disturb while I'm at work and while I'm on the premises of like, you can do where you physically are. And so I have do not disturb on and you called me yesterday while i was here did you have it friday afternoon you didn't call me friday afternoon you are a liar you're a liar i just sent you my call log and the last time i have a missed call from you is august 14th of 2024 okay so a question for you on do not

01:42:35 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 3:

disturb you can still see if somebody called you during that the time period you have it on that because i usually do airplane mode if i'm napping yeah so i was actually scared that this topic was gonna be about me because i if i take a nap me i put it on airplane holy jeez he called you that

01:42:49 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 4:

many times no this is this is halloween this is nine seven nine five you can search by people who call you in your phone logs so i just typed in his name and it gives me it gives me every time

01:43:00 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 2:

we've ever called each other oh okay would you think i was stalker calling or so yeah honestly

01:43:04 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

there's like 27 missed calls on the thing but the last time i have a missed call is april or august

01:43:10 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 2:

14th of last year yeah well all i know is this all i know is that that's so funny i'm i'm lonely

01:43:20 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 3:

without you you are such a liar this topic has really just made me jealous of like why why haven't

01:43:27 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 2:

you been calling me right i was going to call you and ask you to have her call me but does it feel

01:43:33 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 4:

good that he just he just lied the whole time he just lied here by the way are ways that you can

01:43:39 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 2:

tell, how you can tell if somebody has your number blocked. Number one, calls go to voicemail after one ring. Number two, text messages fail to deliver. Interesting, because I've had that happen to me, Ms. Megan Meg. Number three, they don't appear in your suggested contact list. Number four, you were blocked on social media apps. Now, that I don't think so. I don't think on there number five a different number or device gets through i have not done that i should have done that i should have grabbed like chelsea's phone and said oh give me your phone i'm gonna

01:44:16 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 4:

call her right now no unfortunately because you didn't follow the instructions on my voicemail if you would have texted me it would have sent you a notification saying her notifications are currently turned off would you like to push this through and notify anyways which you didn't do which is why you text and you don't call i'm gonna call here's another deal i'm gonna call

01:44:35 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 2:

i'm gonna call scott mick and i'm gonna say scott can you call your daughter for me oh his calls go through what's up what's up rachel how you doing it's mojo in the morning can you believe

01:44:45 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 1:

megan blocked me i can't believe it megan come on now good morning guys good morning

01:44:51 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to block him for real after this.

01:44:55 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

So I had a friend, a female friend, and her...

01:45:00 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 5:

boyfriend randomly messaged me or gamed me on the gram and was super flirty and then showed a uh a d-pic i'm like what so i don't know why i didn't think of this at the time but i didn't screenshot it and i deleted it and sent the message to my friend i was like hey just so you know your dude's like being really weird i'm inappropriate yada yada well she blocked me she didn't ask any questions she just straight up blocked me that's wild that was she didn't believe our friendship no obviously not no that's not a good that's that's not a good friend i know exactly good riddance right yeah but yeah that is that is kind of crazy that she did that i wonder

01:45:45 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 2:

if he tried to make it seem like you were the one that was being flirty with him well it turned out

01:45:51 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't the only one that he was doing this to, so eventually it all came out. So, karma got it.

01:45:57 - 01:45:58 | Unknown:

So, yeah.

01:45:58 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 5:

But still, it's crazy.

01:46:00 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call, by the way, Rachel. Grab C's call on line 22 there. C, what's going on? How you doing? C, line 2. 2-2. Nobody there? They hung up the phone?

01:46:14 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 4:

No, they're there.

01:46:15 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 2:

They're there. Go ahead. Pick it up. Hello. Hello. Did we block you? What's going on?

01:46:21 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 3:

hey so i had this person i was talking to we'll just call him mark and we were we were not dating or anything we were just in like a platonic you know relationship you know i had my thing he had his name and eventually i was you know fell out you know i found somebody i was talking to at work and i told him i was like you know i'm trying to talk to this person i'm not in a relationship with this person i'm talking to him and he's like i thought you didn't want a relationship I'm like, I don't, but, you know, it's not just me and you. So he got mad. I guess he started following my Instagram and my Facebook page. He started seeing me being happy with this guy going on dates. He started blowing my phone up. So I had to block him. But blocking him did not help. He just started calling from random different numbers.

01:47:10 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's so scary.

01:47:12 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 3:

He showed up at my house. He had bought me this stuffed animal. He asked for the stuffed animal and I demanded it. I wasn't even home. My mom was there, and she was like, oh, why is this guy? I'm like, I don't have no idea. Like, I told him what it was, and he's convinced that I'm going to come back, and we're going to be in a relationship, and he's still coughing to this day through different numbers.

01:47:32 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 4:

Question for you. Was the stuffed animal a Build-A-Bear?

01:47:35 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 3:

No, it was one of those seven-foot animals. Oh, okay. But, again, I didn't tell him to buy it for me. He bought it for me because I told him I didn't want to be in a relationship, and he thought he was trying to win my affection by anything.

01:47:47 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. God, these guys are crazy.

01:47:50 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 3:

So blocking people doesn't really even help, you know? Yeah. And then, like, when I blocked him, he, like, he found out, and he was even more furious. I have, like, seven different numbers of him that I have to save perfectly. Like, okay, this is him. Don't answer this phone, because blocking does not help. Oh, my God.

01:48:05 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry that you're going through that. There's nothing worse than having that happen to you. Michael, you actually, Michael, had to block somebody that was just like that. Was it a crazy ex, Michael?

01:48:17 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, so I've had someone, first time call, a long time. Hey, Michael's on the phone. I had someone who was literally obsessed with me for about two years. It got to the point where, like, when we were in the thick of it, she was calling over 100 times a day. Wow. And when I finally, I mean, it got crazy. It got to the point where I had her blocked on everything. She'd even send me emails. like literally emails with like paragraphs of stuff um different you know different numbers different social media accounts so luckily i've moved on from that and i don't have to worry about anymore but god man i mean when you're sending someone an email she sends like paper letters too at one point like on my car window at my apartment um it's just bad i feel bad for anyone who's been through that type of stalking. Wow.

01:49:13 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 2:

What was that Netflix show? Baby Reindeer. Yes. You got to see a little Rudolph on your hands, bro. Yeah, it's crazy. I'm going to resort to sending emails now to Megan. That's how I'm going to get her on. April. April, listen to who blocked April. April.

01:49:32 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hi. So my son has me blocked. He lives in the backyard in an apartment garage, and in order for me to reach him, I have to either have my daughter text him or send him an email because he has me blocked.

01:49:49 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

Why? Is she annoying?

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

I voted for someone he didn't like, and we have different political views, and it's been downhill ever since.

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 2:

Should you tell him that he's living in your garage?

01:50:02 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 6:

Ma'am, you can evict him. Evict him. I know, but all my kids are living in my rental property, so I just let them live back there. But here's the kicker. He's on my phone plan, so should I just get disconnected?

01:50:16 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 3:

If my kid doesn't pick up my phone, I cancel his phone plan. If you got Xfinity, you can do that.

01:50:23 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's what my daughter said. I should just cut him off.

01:50:25 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, cut his ass off.

01:50:26 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 7:

I wonder why he doesn't talk to you.

01:50:28 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, hold on Brandy's got some advice

01:50:31 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 7:

He talks to me, I just can't call him He has me black, we talk You gotta yell out your window You gotta go all day

01:50:39 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Brandy's got some advice from me Brandy, what's your advice that you have On getting Megan Good morning Mojo

01:50:48 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 5:

First time, long time Hey So The easy way to do it is just Star 67, Megan. Just Star 67-er. That's the location right there. It'll go through every time.

01:51:01 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 4:

He just had a call again. You don't even have to Star 67. You just have to call again or shoot me a text, and it says, do you want to push through notifications? True that, homie, but it worked.

01:51:12 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 5:

Star 67.

01:51:13 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 4:

Also, I'm pretty sure everybody on the show has my location. You could see that I was at the office.

01:51:19 - 01:51:19 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:51:20 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 4:

Well, have a happy day. You too.

01:51:22 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I appreciate it. I'm going to call your secretary, Shannon, there. I'm going to say, Shannon, can you do me a favor? Can you see if Megan will return my phone?

01:51:30 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you something? Oddly, she has been responding to text very quickly, almost too quickly lately. And it's throwing me off. It is throwing me off.

01:51:39 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't like me anymore. She used to love me. I don't know what it is. Maybe she's mad. Maybe she's mad at me or something like that. Yeah, I actually, you know what? I think there's a secret crush, maybe. Secret crush, yeah.

01:51:51 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 4:

01:53:49 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, I teased this for you last hour. I just bit my tongue. Yeah, I know that hurt. You bit it at the front or on the side? I bit it on the front. All right. It is a wild dating rumor. President Barack Obama and Jennifer Aniston. And this is, you know, kind of wedged among the rumors that Barack and Michelle are experiencing some issues in their marriage. We've heard about this over the past couple of weeks, months, maybe there are whispers and have been whispers actually since like last summer that Jen and Barack have something going on. In fact, she had to debunk the rumor during one of her appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live in the fall. She said at the time that she had only met Barack once. She actually knew Michelle way better than him. And she's like, I'm not mad at the rumor, but it's just absolutely wild and not true. But again, rumors are gaining momentum online. Now, InTouch Weekly and Radar Online, both tabloids that I hardly believe one word of what they print, but OK. But they say the Aniston Affair attention was unwanted. Michelle felt that. And the reality is, in terms of their marriage, she feels more like they are just friends. Hmm. Obama! I don't know why. I don't know what it is that is linking the two of, like, them specifically.

01:55:13 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's because of that charity event that they were at. And that's in the way that they were with each other at the charity fundraiser. There's been rumors. There's been a lot of rumors about this marriage having issues. I thought that the picture that he posted Where he was for her birthday They were saying I thought that that picture Looked more sus As you young guys would say It looked more sus I did not think that that was a very Good post to have It looked kind of distant and stuff I've heard so many different rumors Which I don't believe any of the ones About his sexuality Which I've never believed There's been a lot of people that have said that they thought that for years that uh president obama was gay and that he you know quite possibly been hiding this for the longest time i don't know if i believe that at all but um it's interesting have we i'm shocked that the clintons haven't gotten a divorce i mean for god's sakes they must have an arrangement but would it be not interesting i don't think we've ever had this or haven't had this probably since the dawn of time where a presidential marriage has ever Dissolved You know Have we Some historians Call us up I don't know To the Google

01:56:28 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there was one I don't know By the way I'm looking at that Birthday picture I don't think There's anything wrong With it It's captions Really nice

01:56:33 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 4:

I think You don't like

01:56:34 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 1:

01:56:50 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 1:

Alright sorry Kev a Kanye story for you. Of course you do and it's not a positive one. But go off. So the rumor about him right now is that he's reportedly terrified to come back to the States because he's facing multiple lawsuits amid claims that he and his wife Bianca have relocated to Tokyo which they've been spending a ton of time there less than three months after he dropped 35 million dollars on that insane mansion in Beverly Hills. 35 million dollars holy crap. But Ye and Bianca are never there. They've spent most of their time since getting married in 2022 abroad and not home in Beverly Hills. And the story that I'm getting is that it is very, very planned. They want to avoid spending as much time as possible in the U.S. And it all goes back to Diddy. Now, let the record state that Kanye has not been named in any of the accusations surrounding Diddy. But sources have claimed that he is concerned that he could face a similar legal firestorm over some sexual assault allegations that were made against him by that former assistant of his that lauren just got a crazy last name that i don't know how to pronounce so that he's just trying to stay as far away from here as possible in an effort to make that go away okay in positive kanye news if you go to

01:58:09 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 3:

his instagram account you can see him and his daughter recording a gospel song that's mama

01:58:15 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 1:

The nominee is for the best of the worst of cinema. The awards known as the Razzies were released ahead of the Oscar nominations this morning. Those are coming in next hour's dirty. And the Joker sequel leads the pack this year. The Joker sequel scored seven nominations, including Worst Actor and Actress for stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, respectively. The Golden Raspberry Awards, a.k.a. the Razzies, celebrate the worst of the worst. I mean, they've been around since, like, the 80s. And the winners are announced the day before the Academy Awards ceremony. So, Joker movie didn't fare so well.

01:58:53 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 2:

Good movies have gotten Razzies.

01:58:55 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there's been a year or two that I was like, oh, I don't agree with that one.

01:59:15 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 1:

01:59:18 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 4:

The best was the Rocky with Mr. T.

01:59:20 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 2:

No, the Russian. Are you kidding me? Rocky II. America. Cold War. Russia.

01:59:25 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 1:

You're a cheater. Here, let me read you a list of people that still respect you. I swear there was a list. No? No list. Another War of the Roses is after 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:02:02 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. I got a lot of good contests. I don't know. I was going to try that. We got a lot of good contests. That's not like I've been drinking. My tongue is extra big today, and I don't know why. Woke up this morning. I had a good night's sleep. I slept on my side the entire night, my left side the entire night. And the reason I knew that is I knew I fell asleep that way. I woke up that way. I wonder if I slept that way the entire night. Do you guys think that you guys stay in the one spot the entire night?

02:02:34 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 5:

I do like a psychopath. I thought I did. And Wes said I'm the worst person to sleep next to ever because I move all night long. I don't.

02:02:41 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's what Chelsea said too. Chelsea and I have had to resort sometimes to getting separate blankets for me because I'll pull her over towards me when I roll over with the blanket because the blankets are like cocoons. Yeah. But I did. I slept good. And my aura ring says that I got a lot of good deep sleep, which was good too. So that was awesome. That REM stage. No, I didn't get any REM, which is wild. It does REM. I had no REM, which means I didn't dream at all. I don't even remember one. But if you get deep sleep though, that means you're getting like really down and dirty. So You got rest. I got rest, exactly. You know what I'm saying? It's the difference. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. You can't do this at the gym. Megan, what did they do?

02:03:27 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 6:

Well, it was me, and I have a question as to why some things are totally acceptable to do at the gym and other things are not, because I got a lot of dirty looks, and I don't think that it was very justified. Actually, quite frankly, I think I am starting a new revolution when it comes to gym etiquette, And I am creating a new pathway. Call me a trailblazer if you must. And I demand. I don't understand why some people can sit on a treadmill and sit on TikTok the whole time or watch television or take a book and read it. Which I think are all acceptable things to do on a treadmill at the gym. But I got dirty looks when I took my Switch. Oh, really? Yes. Who cares? I got a lot of dirty looks. People were like, you don't play video games at the gym.

02:04:11 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 5:

Was it dirty looks or was it people going, I've never seen? because I've never seen that before. It was dirty looks.

02:04:16 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 6:

And I was like, Is it Harry Potter? Of course it was. I'm in the middle of Hogwarts Legacy. I put that down for like four months and I picked it back up again and now I'm fully addicted. It is consuming my life in a way that is unhealthy. But I thought, is it better to sit on the couch and play this game or just go to the gym and walk on the treadmill like I normally would and play the game? Because I don't run. I walk on the treadmill. So why not?

02:04:38 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 2:

Do you have headphones in or are you letting the sound play? No, I play it silently. Yeah. Okay. People get very upset when people, and it's understandable, when they talk on speakerphone and not with headsets. Because they're like, why am I listening to your conversation? But if you're silent with your Switch, why would somebody care if it's a phone or a Switch?

02:04:57 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. And I've seen people, and it would be one thing to be.

02:05:00 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 5:

be like oh you're not focusing on your workout but you can say the same thing about people on tiktok or watching television like i don't want to watch the news i don't want to watch tbs reruns and i don't want to watch old sports games like that's not fun to me um so what's the big deal

02:05:14 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 2:

if i take a sweat who cares i agree i think it has something to do with the fact that you are a trailblazer i think people are looking like why didn't i think how cool is that workout you know

02:05:26 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 3:

what I mean? That's kind of cool. That is cool. I've never heard of that before. That's awesome. Megan, was this at where we think it was? Was it at Planet Fitness? Yeah. And to be fair,

02:05:37 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 5:

none of the employees did not care. They're awesome there. I've never. It's the judgment-free

02:05:41 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 3:

zone. That's right. They're breaking the rules. Call Brian Reef up right now and have that person's

02:05:47 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 4:

membership taken away. Although I will tell you something. I am starting to judge people at My Planet Fitness. How dare you? Because if you sit on the machines and just are on your phone and you're not doing a dang thing and actually using the machine, I get so mad.

02:06:03 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 5:

Now, hear me out. That's why you need to switch because I can remove one of the side panels and deck it at you. And I still have the other panel.

02:06:10 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 4:

I understand you need to take a break, like a moment or two in between sets, but if you're there for like 10 minutes and I'm watching you and you are just on your phone. Drives me nuts. Drives me crazy.

02:06:19 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 3:

I do want to say this, that I think that we've now tapped out on the people that thought that they were going to work out for the year. Like I've started, it was, it was near impossible for a while there. Like it got to a point and I thought it was great for obviously the plan of fitness business. We love them. We want them to be highly successful, but anybody that has been to any gyms, but a plan of fitness knows that the two week and done people are probably almost done.

02:06:46 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 5:

Right. I find that it doesn't really die down until March and then people die down.

02:06:50 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 3:

that's a long time but those people here's the deal you guys it's okay for you guys to have that membership it's only 15 a month just don't go as often as you do because we want to i and i don't worry about the equipment i worry about my parking spot to me it's about you know i go i go 2 30 in the after what time you go megan because you work all day and stuff uh i usually just try to get

02:07:14 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 5:

home and then go so it really depends like some days i get out of here kind of early and some days i i am stuck here all day um so it depends i'll hit like the after work normal gym crowd and that always drives me nuts i try to get there before that i know sometimes if i get out of work late here and i know that i'm going to hit that after work gym crew i go no gym today it's fine like i'll skip today but here's what's gross i don't have to worry about parking spaces because i i run to the gym do you really i do even when it's this cold out i do oh it's good i mean good for you but that's it takes me just as long to get there as it does to go get walk to my car and

02:07:51 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 3:

get my car out of the garage and get to the parking lot yeah um hold on marquilla what's

02:07:57 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 1:

happening it's mojo in the morning marquilla hello hey uh this is marquilla long time second time

02:08:08 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 2:

I like your vibe. Marquee on the phone.

02:08:12 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? Marquee on the phone. So I'm calling because, Megan, you're awesome for that. I think that is so amazing. I've never seen anyone play the switch. Come above, dot, dot, dot. No, no, no, no, no. You're good. You're all good. I see this guy, though, reading a book. And I'm like, how are you keeping up with the words while you're walking on a treadmill? So that threw me off a little bit. But, you know, it's a teacher's own. So, no, that's cool. Because I'll watch, like, Netflix and Hulu if I'm not in the mood to go to the gym. Watching my show will get me going. And then I just got a full workout and binge watch my show at the same time. Yeah, that's great.

02:08:52 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 5:

You know what kills me is turning on something new on Netflix and then having it be horrifically inappropriate and knowing that the people around me have seen me looking at something that I should not be looking at while in public.

02:09:05 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

02:09:05 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 5:

Dude, I was watching a movie one time and I was like, I swear to God, this isn't porn. Like I looked around and said, oh my, somebody is going to think I'm the creeper that's watching porn in public.

02:09:17 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 3:

I get that on planes all the time too. You want to watch a movie and the movie has something dirty in it. And you're like, oh God, they're thinking I'm watching a porn. And you know, Markeia, do you ever find people like peering over your shoulder and looking at your stuff that you're watching? Like, do you ever get that?

02:09:35 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 1:

dude i swear i feel like people do that and i just tell myself it's in it's in my head because

02:09:41 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

i'm looking over their shoulder right i but it's funny if i saw somebody with a switch i probably wouldn't give megan a dirty look i'd be like oh what's that oh look at that like i would be like you said i'm i think i'm more intrigued by it people are texting in by the way saying megan And that's genius. Zach.

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 1:

what's up zach wants to say something to you megan what's going on buddy hey good morning everybody

02:10:06 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 8:

what's that two things for you megan first off hogwarts legacy i picked that up i binge played it beat that story so i get you being addicted all right okay second you go girl get that cardio you're not you're getting that cardio and most people don't i gotta be honest with you the entire

02:10:42 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 1:

a unanimous vote uh text and calls here what's going on amy it's mojo in the morning you also

02:10:48 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 6:

wanted to give megan a shout out hello hi amy hi hi um i just wanted to say megan props to you for wants to jump baby because um yeah i don't do that but what's your game of choice on the switch

02:11:03 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

because it's all about animal crossing for me oh no i hate animal crossing i am very much yes hogwarts legacy i'm a big portal girl so i love portal 2 um i was a big breath of the wild girl i played that uh non-stop but i need to get skyrim really bad for it because i had skyrim on

02:11:22 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 6:

xbox and i need it on my switch i think i need to live a little bit more so i'm gonna look up

02:11:28 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 3:

some harry potter games well they're about to drop the new switch so all of the games on switch just dropped in prices so like everything's more affordable now than it was a couple of weeks

02:11:37 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 1:

ago this is an idea should we do a gaming night at planet fitness like could you imagine if we

02:11:43 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 3:

had people like gaming that's actually so mike and i had this idea it was like what is the problem in like having a game tournament at planet fitness that's a good idea i think the

02:11:56 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

planet fitness people would go crazy over that i just got an old school very nostalgic game boy in a white elephant gift exchange over christmas i'll bring that i'm not necessarily a gamer but

02:12:07 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 1:

i'm obsessed with playing tetris on that stupid thing can you imagine if the even the like the screens and stuff like that could have it and you could sit there and play against each other That's a fun idea. Or something. That'd be fun. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo.

02:12:25 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 7:

Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:12:35 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 1:

It is the War of the Roses time here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Boston cheaters. If you suspect that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500. and we will get you on the show. We do it a whole bunch of different ways. Obviously, the best way is when Shannon does the who you want to send the roses to. Then we have the three-way calls, and we also have this, which you're about to hear, where KP is going to come in, and she's going to act like somebody that maybe this guy is talking to. It's a Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses.

02:13:07 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 7:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:12 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 1:

olivia hi hey it's uh mojo in the morning so we're gonna do war of the roses here in a second actually a different type of war of the roses first though tell us uh you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you yeah what is it what is it that makes you suspicious of this

02:13:35 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 5:

well we were friends with benefits and then we decided to be official It would have been an on and off thing, but I feel like he's not really in it.

02:13:47 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 2:

And what's making you feel that way?

02:13:52 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, I feel like he's cheating because I saw a text on his laptop. I feel like he's just dead word official to keep me around.

02:14:00 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 1:

What did the text say?

02:14:03 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 5:

It was from a girl called Taylor Hinge. So he's definitely on Hinge then. But, yeah, it was just really sus.

02:14:16 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Has he ever cheated before to where you're thinking, like, that just can't be her last name? What? You think her last name is Hinge? Yeah, I'm just saying. That definitely means it's dating us. I'm just saying. Are we just immediately saying he's a cheater? Yeah. By the way, he also has friends that are named Julia Tinder. Listen, man.

02:14:35 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 3:

Look, look. I'm just saying. Why even test him if we see Hinge? Why call him and why do the War of the Roses?

02:14:45 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I think to do it because we want to get proof. Let's bust his ass and let's have something to be able to kind of bust him with so that he can't sit there and lie and say that that's not true and call you crazy, probably like he does.

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 7:

What did the text say, by the way?

02:15:01 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 3:

Did you read the text or it just came up and you could only see her name?

02:15:05 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 7:

It only showed her name. It only said that, oh, a text from Taylor Hinge. Right. Yeah.

02:15:10 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I've never been on Hinge, but is that usually what it does? Is it does show the person's name and then says Hinge after?

02:15:17 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, she's saying that that's what he named this girl in his phone.

02:15:24 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no. I saw it on his laptop.

02:15:26 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 3:

Right. His phone was in one room with him and he was, I was in one room with his laptop. But I'm saying she actually texted him. This wasn't in and out. Yeah.

02:15:35 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Well, here's what we're going to do. We're going to call him up and we're going to try something a little different. We're going to actually have KP from our show call him and have conversation with him like she is this girl from Hinge and just see how he talks to her. But you have to be really, really quiet. You have to actually mute your phone, too, so that he doesn't get suspicious that there's anybody else on the phone line.

02:16:04 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:16:04 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 1:

All right? So mute your phone. And then, KP, I know you got some more information from her, but you ready to do this?

02:16:13 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 2:

Let's do it.

02:16:14 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's call him up.

02:16:24 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 2:

hello hey it's taylor from hinge oh hey yeah this is uh this is my new number i thought i'd call

02:16:40 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 5:

you oh cool thanks for calling what's going on are you at work no i'm just watching tv

02:16:49 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, nice. Okay.

02:16:51 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 5:

You?

02:16:52 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm just chilling. I just thought we'd make, you know, plans for later. We haven't, like, met in person yet, so I thought I'd call you.

02:16:59 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the plan for later again?

02:17:04 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I just thought you wanted to make some. So I thought we'd talk about it over the phone instead of, like, texting.

02:17:09 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 6:

I don't have any plans.

02:17:11 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you're okay if I, like, come there, or do you want to come here?

02:17:16 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, if you want to come here.

02:17:17 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 2:

okay do you have roommates just so that like i'm prepared oh they're not home okay are you like are you looking for something more serious or like do you want to be casual

02:17:30 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 5:

yeah so i'm in an open relationship so casual at the moment would be best

02:17:36 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 2:

okay does she know does she know it's like casual yeah yeah open yeah she's fine with it she's okay

02:17:43 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 7:

with that. Yeah, yeah, of course. He says, I'm fine with this. So I'm in an open relationship

02:17:51 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 2:

and so something more casual will be best. Okay. I just, I don't know. I feel like situations like this are not what it seems and I don't know. No, we have a great communication

02:18:06 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 6:

and so this is just where we're at right now.

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Garrett?

02:18:11 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:18:12 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 1:

Garrett, hi. I'm sorry to interrupt your fun that you're having here right now, but Garrett, I don't know if you could actually hear that there was another person that was on the phone talking, and that other person is your girlfriend, Olivia, who just heard this entire conversation and doesn't seem to believe that she was in an open relationship with you. She thought that you were her boyfriend.

02:18:42 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:18:44 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 1:

Garrett, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And Olivia contacted us because she thought that you were cheating on her. Olivia, are you guys in an open relationship? Do you have an understanding?

02:18:57 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 7:

No. No, we are monogamous. We are two people only.

02:19:09 - 02:19:10 | Unknown:

Crazy bitch.

02:19:16 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 1:

So this is his little thing that he does? Is this the first time that you ever suspected him? the first time that you saw anything like this or did you ever think that he had ever cheated before in the past?

02:19:34 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 7:

I honestly don't know. I never thought he would actually do that.

02:19:41 - 02:19:41 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:19:42 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, KP did a great job on that.

02:19:45 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. Truly, I am. It hurts.

02:19:48 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

i wonder sometimes how many uh of these guys that are on these dating apps try to play that off

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 5:

Like, I was actually so shocked at how quick he said, I have an understanding or this other relationship.

02:20:05 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 1:

I feel like this is a story that he's used before. Yeah. Because it came out real easy. He didn't have to think about it. You know.

02:20:16 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 5:

He's bumping our calls right now, too. We've been trying to call him back.

02:20:22 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:20:23 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 5:

There's got to be a million of these particular situations where people do this and go on the apps. And if you have had this happen, call up and give Olivia a little bit of advice. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Olivia, hang on.

Mojointhemorning.com.

02:21:25 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning war of the roses just busted a cheater by having kp from our show call him up because he's dating a a girl that is a listener of our show but also still on hinge um a couple of uh things caught on a dating app who in a relationship caught their relationship on a dating app and then the other one is the excuse that he made of we're in an open relationship or I've been in an open relationship I want to know I you hear these stories all the time of the excuses that a cheater makes what excuse did they make to the mistress of why they were you know cheating or why they were out seeking for somebody knowing that they are in a relationship i'm gonna bet that's a

02:22:20 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 1:

popular one because then you don't have to explain away this other person that's on your social media or that you're seen out with or whatever although the other popular one too though is that you know

02:22:31 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 5:

they're they're making the relationship or the other person the villain or how bad the relationship is 844 mojo live uh stephanie hi how you doing i'm good how are you guys we're doing okay what What did you think of that?

02:22:46 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 3:

Did you hear when he hung up the phone, he huffed like crazy bitch under his breath?

02:22:53 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Loud and clear.

02:22:55 - 02:22:56 | Unknown:

Crazy bitch.

02:22:56 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, they always seem to do that. I mean, that's another one, too.

02:23:01 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, because he got caught.

02:23:02 - 02:23:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:23:02 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 1:

You know what else I'm thinking about, too, is he had her name Taylor Hinge. I think, okay, so you couldn't even just put her in as Taylor. You had to remember that this was a person you met on Hinge. Don't you want to go through his phone so bad and see, like, what other labels are in there of where he's most likely met?

02:23:21 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 5:

If there's one, there's probably more.

02:23:22 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 1:

Other girls, bars, other dating apps, you know, various things.

02:23:26 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Amanda?

02:23:29 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I was just going to say, Olivia, that a while ago I caught my then-boyfriend doing the same thing. We're married now. We work things out, went to therapy. but to be honest with you for your own personal self-worth it's not worth it you will always wonder if this person is being faithful to you and i just advise you to really think about what you want to do moving forward because even if you guys can work it out the trust is damaged

02:23:57 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 5:

wait so are you still in a bad place trusting him i think i would say yes not that he's necessarily

02:24:03 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 2:

done anything but just because of my own self and where I'm at it's just it makes things really hard do you regret staying with him no I don't regret staying with him we have kids and we have a house and we built a nice life so I wouldn't say I regret it but I would say just be careful yeah

02:24:24 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't I don't want to uh you know reopen wounds but how did you find out did you go through his

02:24:31 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

phone or um so no i didn't go through his phone um i found out through mutual friends

02:24:41 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

wow man i'm sorry that that uh you had to deal with that but i appreciate you at least giving her some advice i mean she's early enough in a relationship where they could get out of this and move on with their lives what's up jake hey good morning good morning um i was

02:24:59 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:25:00 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 4:

I was wondering, does Olivia not live with him? Because he was really sure that he was open and available for plans later to link up with Taylor from him.

02:25:10 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I don't think, KP, I know you talked to her. Did she say anything to you about that? Did they live together, or what's their story?

02:25:18 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 1:

She didn't really give details. They said that they just started being official, so I don't think that they were living together.

02:25:23 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because you're right, though. He did see him right away, like, come on over.

02:25:27 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he had open availability for the rest of his week, it seems like.

02:25:32 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Listen to this text. We tried to call him, and then they texted us and said, don't want to go on the radio. I was six months pregnant and living with my significant other, and I caught him cheating on me. His excuse to the girl that he was cheating with was, I don't think that we're really that serious. So they were pregnant. She was six months pregnant, and his excuse was that he didn't think that they were really that serious. I don't know. Pregnancy might be a little serious. Not if you don't plan it, though. Jessica? Yeah. What's happening? Hi. What's going on? You also sent in a message to us. Which one was yours?

02:26:14 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 5:

It was the pregnant one.

02:26:16 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 6:

Were you the one that just said he was six months pregnant?

02:26:19 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:26:19 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you said you didn't want to go on the radio, but you changed your mind. I appreciate that. So wait, so his excuse was, I thought we weren't serious?

02:26:28 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

02:26:30 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 6:

Was it a pregnancy that caught him off guard?

02:26:34 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 5:

It was very early on in the relationship. So it was like, I think, three months after we kind of got together.

02:26:45 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 6:

because kev actually said not if you didn't plan it uh but that that was your indication that you guys are not going to stay together and you guys aren't together right we actually are oh wow what

02:26:58 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 5:

what changed around oh he became more present and we have two kids now oh wow wow do you ever

02:27:08 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 6:

worry about him cheating anymore uh maybe sometimes oh wow see that's the tough part well we're sorry i appreciate you going on the radio with us and sending that text in

02:27:19 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 4:

uh what's up hope hey so i'm gonna be the bad girl and agree with the guy because far too often women find themselves in friends with benefit situations and then they're like they start pulling away and the guys don't want to be mean and they find out oops i'm in a relationship and then all of a sudden they're just supposed to what repent delete like go off all these things get rid of phone numbers they've probably only been official for like three weeks i would still

02:27:53 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 3:

expect him to have numbers in his phone and still be doing his thing it's it's one thing to still have numbers in your phone it's another thing to be acting on yeah it's like this screams

02:28:07 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 4:

i'm desperate and just want to be with you versus oh we fell in love and we got closer you know what i mean like far too often friends with benefits for women means way more than it

02:28:22 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 6:

does for guys see i i tend to see what she's saying here and i know channing you're shaking in your head no she's saying they just probably met each other which they did olivia admitted to that to us they just started kind of hanging out with each other and started dating and then she called it official which sounds like very high schooly we just became official right and maybe he wasn't really thinking that they were official official maybe he was still out there

02:28:44 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 2:

playing playing around if you're seeing other people especially if you're baking cookies with them you need to communicate that with your partner so everybody's on the same page and cool with what's going on and it sounds like either way they're not but also they're not in an open relationship

02:29:02 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 4:

he's a douchebag I absolutely agree he's a douchebag but what I'm saying is is that she she already knew he was sleeping with other people when they were friends with benefits I mean friends with benefits does not mean you are only sleeping with one person

02:29:19 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 6:

and who knows maybe Olivia was one of the people that he was sleeping with and he was with somebody else at the same time that's why we need him on the phone with us to talk to us and explain that uh if he doesn't do that he doesn't explain that to us we don't know it but i agree with you that you could actually see maybe there's a confusion here because they are so new in their relationship but it still doesn't make up for like you know megan and shannon are saying here it doesn't make up for him doing this

02:29:46 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 4:

to her but he totally was uh coming up with a lie very easily he's not a trustworthy person but i You just have to be devil's advocate. You know what I mean? I'm with you.

02:29:57 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 6:

I appreciate it.

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 4:

And once you're in a relationship, you're in a relationship.

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 2:

matter if it's a day old or a month old like you've made the commitment well exactly yeah yeah

02:30:04 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 3:

and not in an open relationship uh thank you for the call war of the roses this is the home of the

02:30:11 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 1:

second date update war of the roses the throwback throw down and the dirty of the 30 this is mojo

02:30:16 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 3:

02:30:56 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 4:

There is so much, so much stuff happening right now. Okay, so two really quick things to tell you about, but they are juicy. One, something big just happened on Benny Blanco's TikTok. So if you're on TikTok, you can go check this out for yourself. Somebody posted, so he posted like a really, really cute photo of him and Selena Gomez. and a fan commented when your producer is also your husband to which he commented when your wife is also Selena Gomez. Are they already married? Why are you guys looking at me like? No. You don't care, do you? You don't think they're married? Why don't you think

02:31:36 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 5:

they're married? I don't either.

02:31:37 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 2:

I was so excited about that. I can see them being married though.

02:31:41 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 3:

It's like wifey, you know? It's like they're my wifey. They're going to get married. They're going to have a wedding and everything.

02:31:47 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 2:

See, I feel like People who constantly live in the spotlight, not everybody is the same, right? But I feel like people who constantly live in the spotlight, who clamor for moments or clamor to moments that you can have that are personal.

02:31:58 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:31:58 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 2:

Being married like that, because we talked about it when she dropped the ring, how crazy the guest list is probably going to be of all these celebrities, all these stars that are coming out. Maybe they just want a little moment for themselves.

02:32:08 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 5:

But she didn't talk about we speculated, which is why I think they're already married. But what I think is really interesting is if they are married, that means that Taylor swift probably wasn't invited right because she said i'll be the flower girl yeah well they'll

02:32:22 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 2:

probably have a bigger wedding but like them getting married like a loaf or just did something

02:32:26 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 4:

quiet yeah okay the other breaking dirty story right now in the wake of those rumors that i told you about last hour jennifer aniston has turned off the comments on her instagram after word on the street is that her and Barack Obama have been having an affair.

02:32:48 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 3:

I blame you, Shannon. Do you think Ross is upset that Rachel is dating Obama as a Mac Daddy? Come on, where's that drop? Obama is a long-legged Mac Daddy.

02:33:01 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 4:

Just pay job. Why is she turning off her comments on her latest posts?

02:33:05 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Because, Shannon, as soon as you said the dirty report, everybody went to Instagram and started blowing her up.

02:33:09 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's probably just, like, annoying. Can you imagine being a woman and every time you're just at something, somebody goes, you must be dating so-and-so because you were there.

02:33:20 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 4:

But if that's the case, then who cares? Let people speculate. But the action of... Do you live there together? No, but the action of turning off the comments on something just screams to me something's funky. And I don't know what it is.

02:33:39 - 02:34:08 | Speaker 3:

I think Barack Obama and Jennifer Aniston will make beautiful babies together one day. All right. So you don't eat on. No, no, no. Come on. Let me speculate here a little bit. I've been on Reddit, by the way. I've been following this story for a week. This story's been out. And I'm happy that you're now officially, we're officially covering it on our show. But I'm going to say this to you. I think there's something to the definite split of the former first lady and the former president.

02:34:08 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 2:

I would be very sad, but it might be something to it.

02:34:12 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 3:

I think that might be the reason why she didn't run instead of Joe Biden, because I really thought that if she would have decided to run, and remember, everybody's like, oh, she doesn't want to be president, she doesn't want to be president. Bullloney, everybody wants to be president. She didn't run because I think that there was issues going on in the marriage, and I think that's why that didn't happen.

02:34:33 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 2:

I don't think she wants to be president.

02:34:34 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, she does. Everybody does.

02:34:36 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to be president. I do. You do. I was so scared if you were my president.

02:34:41 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Honest to God, and this is a bipartisan thing. If you want to be president, I think you're crazy. Like, I think you got poor judgment skills just in general. Because why do you want to be wrong all of the time and hated by half of the population? And then make horrific decisions. I would have 100% of the population loving me. All right. Nomination.

02:35:00 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

Transforward, the 97th annual Academy Awards were announced this morning with Emilia Perez, A Complete Unknown, and Conclave, which I just watched, at the top of the noms. And this comes after the nominations were delayed, I think, twice. I think they pushed it back twice because of the wildfires, which I do have an update on in just a moment. But leading the pack in overall nominations with 13 is Emilia Perez. Which is wild. And by the way, that achievement, the 13 noms, is one nomination shy of tying the record for overall nominations for a single film. Titanic, All About Eve, and I believe La La Land did that. They all received 14 nominations. Actress Carla Sofia Gascon, playing the lead role in Emilia Perez, made Oscar history by being the first transgender woman to be nominated in any acting category. She joins a very competitive field with Cynthia Erivo from Wicked and Demi Moore from The Substance. And behind Emilio Perez in overall nominations were The Brutalist and Wicked, which each received 10 nominations. I'm very excited about that.

02:36:04 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 4:

Ariana Grande?

02:36:05 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so if you're a Wicked fan, Ariana got nominated for Best Supporting Actress, Cynthia Erivo for Best Actress. Which we knew there were rumors of that because they didn't want them to pull from each other's votes. Yes, which would have happened. Yeah, absolutely. Some snubs. Sofia, or Sofia, Selena Gomez did not get nominated for Emilio Perez and Angelina Jolie did not get nominated. She didn't deserve to be nominated for that movie you got. It's a terrible movie. I haven't seen it, to be fair. It's so bad. Oh. Have any of you guys watched Conclave yet? No, it's on my list. I think I tried and turned it off. I probably need to give it more time. Yeah, it is a little slow, but it is really good. By the way, the Oscars taking place March 2nd at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. Sorry. I'm surprised a real pain didn't get nominated. Seemed to be a big push for it lately, too. So going back to the wildfires yesterday evening, well, yesterday in general, two brand new fires broke out. The most recent one, the one that happened last night, was along the 405 freeway in L.A. That blaze erupted just hours after another one had burned more than 10,000 acres earlier in the day. This is L.A. County Sheriff Robert Luna talking about it.

02:37:17 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 1:

1,000 people who are affected by our evacuation orders, another 23,000 that are impacted by

02:37:27 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 3:

evacuation warnings. Yeah, so 50,000 people. We missed the first part of that clip, but 50,000

02:37:32 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 4:

people now affected by this new batch of fires. People need to take the law into their own hands, and if they see somebody lighting a fire, which is the way that they're thinking that 80% of these fires have started. They say that the first set of fires they believe were started because of the dryness and the way that the weather was. This is insanity that people are lighting fires intentionally. I would if you see that, if you see somebody lighting a fire in an area by your home intentionally trying to burn down people's homes is insanity. I don't get it.

02:38:11 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 3:

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' legal team made a pretty big move yesterday. They requested a gag order be implemented against Justin Baldoni's lawyer Brian Friedman after he released all of those unedited takes from It Ends With Us and then threatened to like dump all of the receipts on a website. They sent a letter to a judge asking him to prohibit this lawyer from talking to the media and they're saying his comments could taint a jury pool should Blake's sexual harassment case make it to court. So they claim that this guy has given all sorts of tv interviews he's been on podcasts he's issued written statements and leaked information to the hollywood press and tabloid media virtually every day since these lawsuits started last month another big loss for our lions aaron glenn who was our defensive coordinator is now headed to the jets where he will be the head coach terms of the deal not announced i do know it's a five-year contract which ties him to the jets through 2029 he is inheriting a 5-12 team. One of his biggest decisions is going to be Aaron Rodgers. Don't know what's going to happen there.

02:39:19 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 5:

Congratulations!

02:39:23 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 2:

My Shayla! In other NFL Dirty this morning, Travis Kelsey is responding to Lil Wayne's accusations that the Chiefs are cheaters.

02:39:34 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 5:

The whole world was talking about something else during the game, and I'm sure you saw some of this, but they were complaining about the refs again, Trav. Even Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne, I hate the cheating Chiefs. Shout out to Toonsie, man.

02:39:51 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 3:

He didn't seem that bothered by it.

02:39:54 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

By the way, it is definitely apparent that the NFL wants the Chiefs to get in there.

02:40:00 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 3:

It may not be the Chiefs cheating, but it's definitely the NFL cheating. Yeah. I mean, I've seen more stuff be called in the way of, you know, giving them the, like they call more penalties if you just touch their quarterback. Jared Goff gets his ass handed to him, you know, the other day, and nobody calls anything that happens to him. So it's just insanity.

02:40:23 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Brooke.

02:41:50 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations.

02:41:52 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:41:53 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you're welcome. Just like KP, you're doing something interesting. You're going on your fourth date with a guy, and you're going to take him to the game. Yes, I am. No judgment. That's actually at least in the same town. KP's is going out of town. Oh, wow, boy. We talked about that earlier this morning. You got to go check that out on our podcast this morning. KP just met a guy, and within four weeks of meeting, they're going away on an airplane together. Possibly even on a cruise ship. Isn't that crazy?

02:42:26 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 2:

I love that for her. Any yellow slash red flags so far on Fourth Day guy? All green flags. Okay. Nice. Maybe a little octopus tonight?

02:42:40 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 3:

What if he's not a hockey guy? What if you go there and you find out that he's an awkward hockey guy like I am when I go to a hockey game?

02:42:48 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

No. Everything will be good.

02:42:50 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:42:51 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes you have that, though. Sometimes you find out that he's not really a sports guy, and you're the bigger sports person in the relationship. I think we'll be fine. Okay. Ask him if he knows where the Montreal Canadiens play. Or just say, hey, where do the Canadiens play? He'll say Canada. Oh, my God. All right. See what he says, okay?

02:43:11 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:43:12 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 3:

All right. Hang on one second before I can get you fed up. How well do you know these songs?

02:43:19 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 5:

And who will win the throwback throwdown? Mojo in the morning. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning.

02:43:29 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 3:

Kev, you found out something, like, a little suspicious when you went on to Credit Karma?

02:43:35 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this world is ass-backwards, and I don't know what people are doing and how they keep their jobs or what regulations they're looking at to determine what is valid and what isn't. I'm on CreditKarma.com looking at my credit score, looking at my report, trying to see everything that's factoring into this beautiful number that I've established. And then I notice an account that clearly isn't mine. And when I look at the account and how long it's been active, this bitch has been active since 1995. What? I was born in 1990. For those who can't count, that's five years. I was five years old when this account was established. Clearly, I don't have any business taking out a credit card. Yeah, but it could have been you. It could have been you. It could have been you. Baby geniuses. Who knows? Do you think when your parents did it? I don't know if it was my parents. It had to be. Do we think? Yeah, you got it. Listen, so I reach out to Credit Karma because I want to dispute it. Now, luckily, there hasn't been any late charges. Whoever this person is that's used it, it's actually benefited me, which is the blessing. But still, I'm like, this clearly isn't mine. I'm five years old. I reach out. I'm like, hey, I was five years old when this took place. I want to get this removed They were it took them you know So they responded and said we don't have sufficient Enough evidence are you kidding To say that this is not your account therefore It will remain open and we will not close it

02:45:00 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 3:

Even if you showed them that you weren't even of age, like you weren't even born?

02:45:04 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 4:

I sent my ID and I was like, they have like reasons for cancellation. I'm like, I was five. Like make it as simple as it possibly can be.

02:45:10 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 6:

So I have an account that was open in my name as well and I cannot close it. And they don't spend any money on it and it hasn't changed, but I cannot close it. And I don't know how to. How is that possible?

02:45:21 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 4:

This is ridiculous.

02:45:22 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 6:

How is that legal? I don't know. I can show you exactly what it is. And they're not in debt and they don't use it or at least it's paid up every month. but it is not improving or harming my credit. But there is an account that I did not open on my credit score.

02:45:36 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 3:

Like same situation. So, Kevin, could you go and look and see what they've been charging or where they've been charging, or it just shows you that there was credit and it was used by somebody that says that their name is Kevin Irwin?

02:45:53 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 4:

The latter. Like when you go on Credit Karma, It doesn't give you, like, a detailed express sheet, like, bulletin, all that type of stuff. It shows check marks, and it shows, like, months. So, it'll have, like, the full calendar year, and then it'll just show a check showcasing that it was paid.

02:46:08 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 2:

So, it doesn't show you, like, it was a credit card, it was, you know, this specific credit card. I wonder if you could find that out. It's like some letters. It's you with you. You have to be able to find it out.

02:46:18 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 4:

Supposedly, five-year-old Kev was out here getting credit cards and charges, though.

02:46:22 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 3:

um i i hear these stories all the time where like parents will do this where they'll take out on their kids but i think that there's no way this is the case because their kids at least were alive and had a social security number you can't just get credit if the person doesn't have a social

02:46:37 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 2:

security was alive and had a social security number at that time i thought you said you

02:46:41 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 3:

weren't even born no i was five years old oh you were five okay for some reason i mistook you and thought you said you weren't even born so then definitely it's my it's your family i don't know

02:46:50 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 4:

My mama not like that. And my dad. I mean, he was locked up for a while, so he couldn't have been making the payments like that.

02:46:57 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's crazy. 844 Mojo Live. What do you think? DJ, what's going on, DJ? It's Mojo in the morning. Did you have this open to you?

02:47:08 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 5:

First off, good morning, everybody. I love y'all to death. What up, DJ? We love you, too. I'm going to tell y'all what happened before I tell y'all who did it. So a house was purchased in an attempt to fix it up and flip it and everything. The utilities were turned on in my name, and it went on for like three years before I knew anything about it. And the only reason I found out is because the house burned down. I'm sure it was an insurance job. And they had to forward the mail to the next known address, which was where I lived with my parents because I wasn't even old enough to be doing any of that stuff yet. Come to find out, my grandmother did it. And when I went to her about it, I found out about it. I went to her with the bills, and I asked her about it, and she looked me dead in my eyes, and she said, I ain't paying spit. Wow. Like three weeks later, she kicked the bucket. She was a very mean person, so I don't feel bad about it.

02:48:01 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, could it be grandmama?

02:48:04 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 4:

Low-key, when he said that, my face, I'm in utter shock. If there is a small chance that it could be grandmama. not her no i mean the fact that all the payments have been made on time

02:48:19 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 3:

kind of just sounds like my grandma wow i'm asking her as soon as the show over dj when grandma died did you get anything from grandma's death other than bills i didn't get anything she didn't have

02:48:34 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 5:

anything to leave and when i reached out to dte who let this go on for god knows how long and the bill was never paid it was like five thousand dollars worth of utilities in over three years the bill was never paid and when i reached out to them to dispute it they said that they don't deal with family disputes and the bill just needed to be paid so it ended up being a situation where i couldn't afford it so after seven years it just fell off my credit but it screwed me and by the time i was able to actually use my credit it was in the hole wow that's insane sorry they

02:49:05 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 3:

had to deal with that uh sean uh has advice for kevin who found out that somebody took credit out in his name when he was five what's up sean yeah i was gonna say a kevin should

02:49:19 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 1:

call the credit card company that they have opened up in his name to say somebody hacked

02:49:25 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 2:

his account but he doesn't even have that info that's the problem but it was in his name with

02:49:32 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 1:

His social security number, just be like, they changed all the passcodes, everything.

02:49:37 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 2:

But the report doesn't say what it was. If you get LifeLocked.

02:49:40 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 1:

There's got to be a way to find out who's reporting that.

02:49:43 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 3:

If you get LifeLocked, they'll do that for you. So if you get the thing and you say, this is not me, they'll go in there and they'll cancel all that stuff for you.

02:49:51 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 6:

You did that?

02:49:52 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 3:

That's what you tried to do?

02:49:53 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 6:

I had LifeLocked. They didn't do crap.

02:49:55 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

They did it for me. They stopped it. Stopped it for happening. and you can get it, by the way, with our benefits at the radio station. Really? You can actually get that, too. We get benefits? Cool. Did you not sign up for them? No, I did. It was just a little joke. Yeah, just a little joke. What's going on, Amanda? Take the caller, bro.

02:50:17 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Amanda?

02:50:18 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Amanda. What's going on? How are you? By the way, welcome to Bob Pittman, who said, just sent me a text saying he's listening to the show this morning. 02:50:52 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, first time, long time. Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

02:50:57 - 02:50:59 | Unknown:

Hey! Hey!

02:50:59 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey! No, I was just going to share my husband's dad actually added him to one of his credit cards when he was a kid to extend the length of his credit. So he's kept the account in good standing his whole life. And so my husband's credit right out of the gate at 18, you know, at a young age was in good standing because length of credit does make a huge difference.

02:51:21 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 6:

I am mind blown that you are allowed to do that. Oh, yeah. I like how is that possible if you have to put a birth date on there how do these credit card companies not see like in Kev's case oh he's only five years old this isn't legit I truly do not understand and what and what your husband's dad did that that's great it worked out for him but I'm saying like how is this not flagged so they get a they get a kickback from stores when you

02:51:46 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 1:

use a credit card right so that's why some stores charge you more when you're not paying a lot for your items and you're using a credit card because they have to pay the credit card company for you to swipe it so credit card company doesn't care they want the money of every swipe that has to

02:51:58 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 3:

be illegal you know what we should do we should call the suspects and let's see if we can judge by their voice when we accuse them call your mom call your dad call your grandmama let's get them on the phone and let's ask them the question on the spot who of you has taken a credit card out in my name and we'll do it based on the tremble in their voice what do you think i'm gonna call

02:52:22 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 6:

my grandma right now dial her up i don't i feel bad putting her on the spot if she like had to do

02:52:27 - 02:52:45 | Speaker 3:

it on necessity there's there should be no right excuse for that yes i don't believe that she did it she has a heart of gold if i was to pinpoint any of the three that did it i would say it might be senior.

02:52:48 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 1:

What's up?

02:52:49 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Are you awake? I mean, you awake?

02:52:52 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

Tell her she's on the radio.

02:52:53 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 5:

You're on the radio, Grandma, just so you know, so everybody can hear you.

02:52:58 - 02:53:00 | Unknown:

Why would you call me in the middle of the morning?

02:53:01 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 5:

Because I know you up. You okay? This is not a good time to hear.

02:53:03 - 02:53:04 | Unknown:

You're fine.

02:53:04 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Let me tell you this real quick, Grandma. So I went on this website called Credit Karma, where you can look up your credit score and find out information about your credit. And when I was scrolling through, I saw accounts that I recognized, and then I saw an account that I didn't recognize. And this account I didn't recognize was established in 1995 when I was five years old. Did you do that?

02:53:30 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 4:

What is it through? I don't understand.

02:53:33 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 5:

Yes or no, Grandma, did you do it?

02:53:36 - 02:53:37 | Unknown:

I don't remember that.

02:53:38 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 5:

So there's a chance? i don't even know if it's a chance it'll be asked to be something we'll have to go through okay okay we gonna what is the credit what credit card is i gotta look it's like airplanes like it's got call letters it doesn't say like an actual like it won't spell out gardner white

02:53:59 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 4:

it's like g8 it's like a bunch of stuff oh it doesn't say anything about a visa or this matter

02:54:06 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 5:

the other no i gotta look but you're giving me concern right now because you you ain't just coming flat out and being like, no, I would never do that.

02:54:14 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 4:

You know, I was getting insurances and things. Grandma! Grandma! Grandma!

02:54:22 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 1:

Grandma! I love you, Grandma.

02:54:24 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 4:

I got to call you back, Grandma. Allegedly, you was getting insurances. Allegedly. All right, love you, Grandma. I'll talk to you later. No, definitely I was getting insurances. Grandma, stop. Stop, Grandma, stop. I love you. I'll talk to you later, okay? Grandma, I gotta go. Goodbye. I love you. W-A-Q-I Detroit. W-S-N-X Muskegon Grand Rapids. W-V-K-S Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:54:54 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:54:56 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 4:

Live.

02:54:58 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 1:

What? great meals from grandma over the years you were paying for them that's wonderful oh my god at least she was paying the bill at least she was you know duh i love how she was like i can't read that

02:55:14 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 2:

grandma get go she did not say wasn't me that's what i'm saying oh bro she 94 grandma i love you

02:55:21 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 1:

but by the way you better inherit more from grandma than melinda or your mom oh for sure

02:55:28 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 2:

I'm for sure the favorite, though.

02:55:29 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 3:

If it was her, do you give her a pass? Yeah, she's good. She's grandma. When he said his grandma did the thing, and I'm like, it's been paid on time, that's kind of my grandma behavior.

02:55:39 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 1:

You know how the NBA players, when they make it big, the first thing they do is they buy their mom a house? Well, you just bought your grandma something. I love her. All right, it is mojo in the morning. We've talked before about how Shannon lives in a fishbowl. Her house is just pure windows. well it had to happen what happened oh it's happened before I've talked about it before

02:56:03 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 5:

but it just happened again recently so I'm bringing it up again but um the night before my husband Wes left for his his trip that he's on right now um we had a fire going and we were cuddling on the couch in the front room which is windows like on three sides essentially and so yes, Megan, I know you're barfing, but one thing led to another. I didn't do anything. Where's that sexy music? And so before we knew it, we were both naked on the couch and did not care. Oh, good for you. This is like 10, I would say 10 o'clock at night, 1030. I say we didn't care until somebody walking their dog, 1 million percent spotted us. And I didn't even see this, this person i don't even know if it was a man or a woman but wes wes dove for the floor like he was trying to escape gunfire i have never seen him do this before it was so funny but definitely got caught and he just left me he didn't even drag me down with him just left me there i i almost think

02:57:12 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 1:

naked and vulnerable why are you having sex in the room with all the windows why what was the

02:57:18 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, we were on the couch, but when you're moving positions, you're not as, you know, out of view as you think you are.

02:57:31 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 1:

You self-admitted that you guys have done this before, but I almost think you want to get caught. Is there something?

02:57:36 - 02:57:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, before, remember, it was up in my bedroom. Yeah. And we just didn't pull the blinds. So we were in the right place.

02:57:44 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 1:

But you have talked in the past about how, like, the, you know, that somebody has walked by when you, like, walk naked in front of your thing.

02:57:51 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, but who hasn't done that? I mean, yeah.

02:57:55 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 1:

Me? I'm not walking down naked for my neighbors.

02:57:58 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 5:

That's not true. If you pass by your front door and somebody's standing there dropping off a DoorDash, they see you.

02:58:03 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

If I'm running naked, it's to go to the laundry room to go get something that I didn't grab.

02:58:06 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever done that? The pool parts.

02:58:09 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 1:

Maybe I had to, but it's like quick. It's a quick one. Has anybody ever seen their neighbors having sex? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Because they're having sex in front of windows. I know. This is, by the way, not a time to be walking dogs. Nope. We talked about that yesterday. So when Wes fell to the ground. He didn't fall.

02:58:30 - 02:58:30 | Speaker 5:

He dove.

02:58:31 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

It was pro. Did he dive on his penis?

02:58:36 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 5:

I don't believe he was hurt. It was graceful.

02:58:39 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 1:

That would hurt. Bruh. That would be right there.

02:58:42 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, quit bragging.

02:58:43 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's like a kickstand, for God's sakes.

02:58:47 - 02:58:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:58:48 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 1:

What if he got rug burn? Yeah.

02:58:50 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. He didn't. Art inappropriate. I appreciate your concern.

02:58:54 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 1:

He's hardwood floors. No, there's a rug there. Text 95500. Text her here. 734 says, why is it that in my neighborhood it's just the fat neighbors that are the ones having sex?

02:59:07 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 4:

It really is. It's always the old people who are doing it the most and, like, the ugliest people. I don't feel like you are the hottest people that get it on as much as you do. It is wild.

02:59:17 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 1:

Another texter here. We'll have to call some of these texters. You can call us, 248, or whatever the number is. This is 248, but our number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. A person here says that they have sex on purpose in front of their windows, hoping that their neighbors see them because it turns them on.

02:59:35 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 5:

I am not like that at all. Yeah.

02:59:37 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's just kind of wild.

02:59:41 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 4:

If people wanted to see it, they would ask.

02:59:45 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Or just get a webcam. To me, I don't know if I ever want it. Like, I turn the lights off when I'm having sex. So I don't even see myself.

02:59:55 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we had all the lights off. The only light in the room was from the fire.

03:00:00 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Chris? That's all cool. How you doing, buddy? It's Mojo in the morning. It's a defiring, the only thing crackling. Hi, buddy. Cracking that ad. Chris.

03:00:11 - 03:00:11 | Unknown:

Can't stop.

03:00:12 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I'm here. What's up, buddy? How you doing?

03:00:15 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God, boy. I got a crazy story. I was a canvasser. I used to go door to door, and I walked up to this house. Storm door was closed. Interior door was open. and the lady was on top of this dude getting down and I they the dude saw me stopped she looked back and told me I need to come back when her husband gets home

03:00:38 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 5:

my jaw dropped I couldn't believe I said I said what she said come back with my husband I said Nope, I'm leaving.

03:00:54 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 6:

I turned around and walked off, and I saw everything. It was nice, but.

03:00:59 - 03:00:59 | Unknown:

Oh.

03:00:59 - 03:01:08 | Speaker 4:

It was nice. Hey, wait a second. What did you say you do door-to-door? What were you selling or doing? I was working for a home improvement company,

03:01:08 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 6:

so I was just doing door-to-door trying to get leave. Was it the windows guys?

03:01:11 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 4:

I love the window salesmen that come door-to-door and go, your windows are bad, and they're telling you all this stuff. Yeah, window siding, guys, roof, all that stuff, yeah. Oh, my God, that's fantastic. How much do you lie to get a sale?

03:01:25 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 7:

Say what now? How much do you lie to get a sale?

03:01:28 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 6:

Be honest. I don't have to lie to get a sale. I got skills in it.

03:01:33 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 4:

I love it. I had one of you guys come to my house a year after I got a new roof telling me I needed a new roof. Right. It was like, yeah, we walked by and we could see that you needed a new roof. I'm like, hey, bastard, I just got a new roof.

03:01:46 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. You got to talk to the company that did the roof for you then.

03:01:50 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 4:

he's selling look at this guy he is a good salesman

03:01:54 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 6:

yeah they might not have done a good job for you

03:01:57 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 4:

I would have gone back to that house because I'm sure that woman was probably just saying that as a joke but I would have gone back to that house to see if she wasn't joking to see if it really was she was having sex with some guy that wasn't her husband that's funny

03:02:11 - 03:02:13 | Speaker 6:

I was going to see if I could get next if anything that's funny

03:02:13 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 7:

you make a good point though Mojo how many times do we lie to people to get them off from soliciting like get get them away from us or whatever and what if the two of them were just cackling like

03:02:24 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 4:

haha he believed us he's gone let's keep going uh claire you walked in on what this wasn't neighbor

03:02:33 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 2:

though was it claire no it was not a neighbor but i'm a nurse and have had patients have their significant other or whoever in uh the room and we walked in on patients having sex in the hospital in the hospital what are they in for what kind of a medical thing so this was several years ago so the cake the tapping on the cake is that this specific patient that i'm thinking of she was pregnant and her water was actually already broke which is oh no even more you can't be having sex when your water is broken you're trying to keep your baby in no you cannot and so that was uh a big no no big no no that's so dangerous disgusting oh man uh thank you for the

03:03:26 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 4:

call interesting listen to this one here nebra i believe that's how you pronounce your name is it nebra it's nebra nebra hi nebra yeah hi how are you good what happened to you

03:03:39 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 3:

uh about 30 years ago me and my husband were in our bedroom having sex and i could right by the window so i could see out the window and i saw these headlights coming towards our house somebody stole a car crashed they were getting chased crashed their car into our car in our yard and police were there everything i mean obviously we had a run up you know we stopped and ran outside like oh you stopped that poor guy got did you guys ever catch back up where

03:04:18 - 03:04:38 | Speaker 4:

you left off after everything left every all the cops left well we have we have four kids so yeah we did okay that's crazy yeah reader end it even worse by the way even worse than seeing your neighbor having sex is seeing what Laurel saw. Laurel, what did you see your neighbor doing?

03:04:39 - 03:05:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I used to live in New York and I had a neighbor. I could see from my window every single day he would be touching himself on his bed. Oh, no. The window open and an iPad propped up on his chest. Oh, God. He knew you were watching. Yeah. I think, like, we decided that it was a kink of his, I guess. I really don't know. But, like, it was all three of us girls. We were all, like, in our 20s in our New York apartment. And we decided to write on a note and put it in the window saying, we can see you. Please close your blinds. And he never did anything about it. No, because he liked it.

03:05:18 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that just egged a bone. Exactly. How long did y'all watch?

03:05:22 - 03:05:44 | Speaker 1:

We wouldn't. Be honest. We watched once. We turned off all the lights. And then one time we had a party, so we had a bunch of people over our apartment, and he was for sure doing it right in his bedroom, so we got the entire party together. And we were like, all right, everyone, we're turning the lights off. You can see our little side show next to our apartment. That's crazy.

03:05:44 - 03:05:56 | Speaker 2:

That's why, for some reason, honestly, watching two ugly people having sex is one thing. Watching one either ugly or good-looking person masturbating is the worst. I could not imagine that.

03:05:56 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 1:

He was not the most good-looking man ever. I mean, trust me when I say that. But we would know when his girlfriend would be out of town. Every time she would leave, that's when he would do it.

03:06:08 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 2:

That's awful.

03:06:09 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 3:

At least he was doing that and not like the other couple. There was some rando there.

03:06:13 - 03:06:18 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I would rather watch the other couple. I'm watching a guy do that to them himself.

03:06:18 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Never cute.

03:06:21 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, top trending stories of the day. We will end on this today. I like this story. I like this trending news story today. What is the grossest habit that people say that they're seeing in their offices now that people are starting to go back into the offices?

03:06:44 - 03:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

03:06:45 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 2:

Workers are saying that they're complaining about coworkers who are walking around barefoot in the office, taking their shoes off. According to a post that was put up on Reddit, they said, we simply cannot take it. It's unbearable.

03:07:02 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

03:07:02 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 2:

Why are people taking their shoes off and walking around the office or sitting at their desk or cubicle without shoes?

03:07:12 - 03:07:17 | Speaker 4:

First of all, I love going barefoot. Second of all, great song choice.

03:07:18 - 03:07:34 | Speaker 2:

One person that works in a financial office says, as an intern, I have no plans of ever getting a job at this company because it is so uncomfortable to see men and women walking around with bare, ugly feet.

03:07:35 - 03:07:35 | Unknown:

That's funny.

03:07:35 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 2:

What do you guys think about that, about people taking their shoes off?

03:07:38 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 3:

I remember Fletch used to do that all the time.

03:07:40 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. He was shoeless all the time, wasn't he?

03:07:42 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 5:

As long as your feet don't stink, do you. That's how I feel.

03:07:46 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

03:07:47 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 5:

The socks got to be clean, though. Don't be coming here with the white socks with the black bottoms. I've seen way worse things.

03:07:51 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 4:

It's also not professional. Like, don't go to a meeting. Right. But, like, if you're sitting at your desk, what do I care?

03:07:58 - 03:08:10 | Speaker 2:

It's too cold to take your shoes off now. Like, we're not going to see this now. But you know what's even worse than that? How about the people that have the UGG boots that are all sweaty and smelly, and they take them off because their feet are sweaty, and they smell.

03:08:12 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 3:

Do y'all wash those? Do y'all wash Ugg boots? I clean mine. I clean the outside of mine, but I don't clean the inside. Oh, let me tell you. I have three cans of these

03:08:20 - 03:08:28 | Speaker 4:

all around my house. It's like an Arm & Hammer spray. And I keep it where I keep all of my shoes. I always spray my Uggs like after I wear them. Yeah. Oh, smart.

03:08:29 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about people who wear socks with Uggs? That's how you're supposed to do it. I look like an idiot.

03:08:35 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that's how I have mine on right now. Look.

03:08:37 - 03:08:41 | Speaker 5:

You have to do it that way. I thought you weren't supposed to, though.

03:08:41 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 3:

See, that's why I think they get sweaty and stinky. Correct.

03:08:44 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, yes, yes. I thought, somebody told me that you didn't have to, though. Like, that's what the fur is in there for, da-da-da-da-da.

03:08:52 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 4:

They were made for surfers, so a lot of them didn't wear socks. It was to keep your feet warm after getting out of the water, going back to your car on, like, cold mornings.

03:08:59 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 3:

I say sometimes my kids wear them to and from swimming, and theirs tend to stink. Yeah.

03:09:03 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What occupations make up the worst drivers? According to research, there's one that is big. It's the most accidents as well as speeding tickets. That profession, doctors. Doctors are in the most crashes. Second on the list, lawyers. Followed by, this is wild, military, enlisted military personnel. Make up the top three of the worst drivers that are out there. I didn't realize that doctors would be on that list. I've heard always from my cop friends, they do not ticket drivers that are doctors or nurses.

03:09:38 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 3:

I think that's why doctors know that they have that privilege. So they don't care if they're going to speed limit or they're not going to get a ticket.

03:09:43 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Am I crazy? Because I feel like if you're in the military, you should have good hand-eye coordination. Or does that not translate over to driving?

03:09:51 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, maybe worse drivers also could include their speed. They're getting pulled over all the time, too. Yeah. Got you. But, yeah, the need for speed.

Um, what is the most, uh, what America's favorite pizza topping by state just came out and one in seven people across the country say when they order a pizza, they order it this way. What is the preference? They say pepperoni is the number one preference on top of a pizza.

03:10:19 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 3:

I'm not surprised.

03:10:20 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 1:

That that's how they like their pizza, which is kind of interesting because we're looking at the different states that we're on in Michigan and Ohio. Michigan's favorite pizza is a meat lover's pizza. Where Ohio's favorite is a pepperoni pizza. Hey, do the people in Ohio, Megan, like the Detroit Square crust pizza? Or do they like more traditional-ish? Because somebody was telling me that Cleveland has banned the sale in some places of Detroit-style pizzas.

03:10:53 - 03:11:10 | Speaker 3:

That's funny. No, it's definitely a Detroit-style city. I mean, you can find an option of all different kinds of styles anywhere. Like, you can find Neapolitan, you can find New York, you can find Chicago. But I would say, overwhelmingly, Detroit is popular there. Do you guys like hot honey on your pizza? I love hot honey on my pizza. It's so good.

03:11:11 - 03:11:22 | Speaker 1:

Misfit Victor bought me a thing of hot honey that you can actually just squirt on your pizza or dip your pizza in. I think that Shannon hot honey has now surpassed ranch for me.

03:11:22 - 03:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, for sure. It is so good.

03:11:24 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 1:

God, I love it. This is a big story. Last week when everybody was talking about TikTok going away, did you know that there were people that were listing iPhones with TikTok already installed on them? And they were on eBay for a ton of money. Matter of fact, as of Wednesday, there were new listings of phones with TikTok on eBay. And the most expensive listing currently is set at $4.9 million.

03:11:49 - 03:11:55 | Speaker 2:

What's the last sale, though? You can list all you want, but if it ain't selling for that, then what's the point?

03:11:55 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 1:

And a phone priced at $14,000 sold earlier in the week. So actually somebody bought a phone for $14,000.

03:12:01 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm posting mine now. I'll get to you for $5,000 and I'll deliver it. Yours is broken. I'm not taking it. They don't care. It's still got TikTok.

03:12:11 - 03:12:27 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of TikTok, this is the reason why TikTok should go away. A TikToker by the name of Charles Smith has been indicted on a series of charges after police say that they found him on TikTok filming himself spraying bug spray on produce at a grocery store in Mesa, Arizona. People are dumb.

03:12:28 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 3:

Thank God he found him.

03:12:28 - 03:12:46 | Speaker 1:

Fruit Wash. The 27-year-old influencer, TikTok influencer, who had, by the way, tons of followers, was doing this as a way to kind of draw more followers and get people to think that he was like a bad boy. And they said that because they caught him doing it once, they had the proof right there to do it.

03:12:46 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 3:

Say it again, please.

03:12:49 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 1:

Which one?

03:12:50 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Like a bad boy.

03:12:52 - 03:12:59 | Speaker 1:

Like a bad boy. That's how you said it. Hold on. Let me get my shoes song all set. I have to do that one. Shoes. Shoes. I got my shoes.

03:12:59 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I love this.

03:13:00 - 03:13:03 | Speaker 1:

You like that song? Shoes. He's a bad boy.

03:13:03 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 3:

This is like one of the first viral videos.

03:13:06 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I got just two more left, and then we're done for today. What are the eight everyday tasks that will give you a healthier lifestyle? These are things that you can do to make yourself healthier. Number one, taking the stairs. Number two, tending a garden. That's wild. They say taking the stairs actually accounts for enough cardio health for you to do on a regular basis every single day. Like just doing the stairs alone instead of going up in an elevator, running for the bus, kitchen tasks and cleaning. So cooking in your own kitchen and just moving around in your own kitchen instead of sitting around doing DoorDash or ordering in, doing laundry. If you do laundry on a regular basis, you actually get more steps in every single week. Vacuuming, mopping are on the list and just getting up and down and moving around. They say that if on average every 30 minutes you get up and just walk around your house, that you could amount to 10,000 steps a day just by getting up every 30 minutes instead of sitting down for more than 30 minutes at a time. Do you guys follow your device, whatever device you might have that says to you it's time to get up and move around?

03:14:26 - 03:14:29 | Speaker 3:

I don't. I don't have that set, though, on mine. I do.

03:14:29 - 03:14:49 | Speaker 1:

it honestly makes me and when i'm in the studio and we're doing that commercial free hour between like 7 20 and 8 40 or whatever that is it tells me so many times at one point i think it comes on the second time around and goes hey fat ass yeah you know here's what annoys me are the days where

03:14:49 - 03:14:54 | Speaker 3:

i have like a crazy workout and then i sit down on the couch afterwards and it's like get up and

03:14:54 - 03:15:08 | Speaker 1:

poof. I'm like, I did, I did that. Are you getting more steps now that we're in this new building? to walk so much further to the studio? Oh, my God. Yes. Yes, I do. Because you go far. Megan goes all the way to the IHART traffic department to go do her job.

03:15:08 - 03:15:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's where my office is. My office. Which feels like Antarctica right now. I don't think they have heat up there. They don't.

03:15:16 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 1:

And last but not least, if you ever go to a hardware store or somewhere like, I guess, a Lowe's or Home Depot, do you ever find yourself having the sudden urge to have to go to the bathroom? Scientists have discovered that there are several things that make you have to go to the bathroom when you go to hardware stores. And there's a sensory of smells, physical exercise, and stress of being in them that causes you to have to go duty. They say the smells of timber, fertilizer, potting mix, and varnishes cause for your stomach to make you have to go to the bathroom. And then they said the whole idea of not knowing where certain things are in the stores. Because who does, right? Go to, I don't know, the last time anybody's been in a Home Depot. I never can tell you where something is. Oh, my God.

03:16:06 - 03:16:31 | Speaker 7:

I had to get air filters and it finally broke down and looked online, you know, because it'll tell you which aisle it's in. So I couldn't find anybody. I could not figure out where I was going. Do you have stores like this, though? I have two stores that every time I have to go to the bathroom. Barnes & Noble and a candle store. HomeGoods. Ooh, good one. TJ Maxx Home Goods, because I know I'm, like, ready to do some digging. And then I get excited, and I think my body's like, and you have to poop.

03:16:32 - 03:16:36 | Speaker 1:

I have no idea why it is. I always feel like I have to go to the bathroom if I'm ever in a Costco.

03:16:37 - 03:16:42 | Speaker 7:

Really? Yes. Do they have nice bathrooms? I don't think I've ever been to a bathroom in a Costco. I don't think I have.

03:16:42 - 03:17:13 | Speaker 1:

The Costco bathrooms always, and it's right around checkout time, and Costco bathrooms are just past where the checkout area is. Yeah, it's weird. I don't know why that is. Have a great day.
