This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:01:07 - 00:01:52 | Speaker 2:

Allen Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.

00:06:41 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 4:

off kev come on man feel good friday i've been making chicken tenderloins in the air fryer and They're getting better and better every time.

00:06:50 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 7:

That's a feel-good Friday.

00:06:52 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Seasoning getting perfected. Temperature, time. Do you look at that air fryer and go, because I do this, how did I live without you? Yes.

00:07:00 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 6:

Facts.

00:07:01 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

How did I live without you?

00:07:03 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I like that. How about you, Megan? You got a feel-good Friday that you can hit us with this morning?

00:07:10 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 1:

Um, let me think about it. We'll talk to you at the end of the show.

00:07:17 - 00:07:18 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

00:07:18 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 5:

By the way, if it's a good Friday where it ends quick, that will be a feel-good Friday for me.

00:07:23 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 1:

I would agree with that. No, I'll take you up on that one. Week has gone by fast. We'll do that. Okay. All right. Feels good.

00:07:30 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 5:

What about you, Shannon? You got anything fun going on? You got the kids this weekend?

00:07:33 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't have the kids, but I met a really cool girl that I clicked with at an event recently. And when we got to talking, we realized that we live two streets away from each other randomly because we were not even in the town that I live in. And so we're like going out to get drinks and dinner tonight. Nice. Yeah. So I'm excited.

00:07:55 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 5:

I love the people in the wild.

00:07:57 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:58 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 5:

My feel good Friday will be that I'm going to spend the weekend with Chelsea and that we are going to go and watch our son do something kind of cool. We're going to watch Joe, our son, host a pirate festival this weekend, which is our feel-good Friday. And the reason why I'm feeling good about this whole thing is there's something kind of just, to me, strange about people that dress up for any kind of these festivals and stuff. And he's so into it. And when I told him that I was going to stay and see him and be with him and stuff like that, I have never seen the kid light up like he lit up. It was like, you know, I don't know how you guys felt, but it was like when I was a kid, and my dad never came to a lot of my games because he worked so much. But when I would see him in the stands, I was like, oh, this is the greatest thing ever. So I'm just going to be the dad in the stands. That's awesome.

00:08:51 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what would make him feel even more incredible? What's that? Is if you dressed up. You know what? You should, man. I'm telling you. It ain't going to happen. Come on. Pull out a little cat to hook the butt.

00:09:01 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 5:

I've said this before on the air. You will never see me ever dress up at a Renaissance Festival. I'll go, but I'm never dressing up.

00:09:08 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 4:

We're going and we're dressing up. I want to do one of these bad boys. They look fun.

00:09:13 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 5:

Ruben, what's going on? Feel Good Friday. What do you got going on this morning, Ruben?

00:09:18 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 6:

Hey, man, I didn't have to shovel a mountain of snow this morning. Yeah.

00:09:22 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 3:

Trust me, I walked outside and the streets were dry. I was so happy.

00:09:26 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I like that. Ruben, have a great day, buddy. It's so nice. You too, guys. It's so funny, too. It feels warmer, too, doesn't it? Caitlin, what's going on, Caitlin? Feel good Friday. What's up?

00:09:40 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Hi. First, long-time listener, first-time caller. Yeah, I started a new job Monday after leaving a retail business for six years. Okay. That's awesome.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 7:

That's awesome. Yeah.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 6:

It's overwhelming, but I'm excited, and plus I make a bunch more money. That's good.

00:10:06 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 5:

Let's make some money. Money. Have a great weekend. Go to Elena on 4. Elena, what's going on? How you doing?

00:10:15 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 6:

I'm with Oakland Community College Softball, and we're about to Mercy Clear University.

00:10:22 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah! Do you guys play in a dome or something?

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 8:

What?

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 5:

Is this indoor softball?

00:10:30 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 8:

Yes.

00:10:32 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay. It is. We're at the Legacy Center.

00:10:34 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 8:

Pull up.

00:10:35 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 8:

We're playing at the Brighton Legacy Center.

00:10:38 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

My son, Luke, when he was doing travel baseball, used to play there. That was cool. That's a cool place. Kick's a mess. Let's come see you guys. It is. Go get them. How fast can you pitch? Thank you. I always love. Have I tried to do the softball pitching where you do the underhand thing? I don't get it. I think I almost threw my shoulder out. Yeah, it's crazy. That doesn't take much. Go to, this is a good one, Courtney. Courtney's got a big one today. We've got to take you, Courtney. Hi, what's up? Feel Good Friday.

00:11:09 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 7:

Hi, guys. Today's my birthday. Happy birthday. Thank you. I'm so happy. I woke up for no reason at 4.30, but I have today off, Monday, Tuesday, and I get to listen to the Throwback Throwdown. Yes. Yes.

00:11:25 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's a nice long weekend for your birthday, too. How old are you today?

00:11:32 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 7:

I am 28 years old. Not a significant birthday, but fun anyway. Every birthday is a significant birthday.

00:11:39 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 5:

Believe me.

00:11:40 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 7:

Happy belated birthday, Shannon, my January queen. Thank you. Right back at you.

00:11:46 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

We love you. Take care of yourself. Give some rest. Thanks, guys. We got time for one more. Do we have time for one more? Feel good Friday. Let's go. Gina, Gina, feel good Friday. Feel good Friday, Gina. Hi. Hi. What do you got going on this weekend?

00:12:04 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my husband and I are on our way down to Florida for five weeks. We left last night at 6.15, and we're in Tennessee.

00:12:11 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

00:12:13 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 8:

I'm so jealous.

00:12:14 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

How much more drive are you guys going to do? Are you going to do it all in one fell swoop?

00:12:20 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, we always do. It's taking a little bit longer this year because it's so cold, and we're taking the Tesla. so you get a bad, well, you don't get a long charge on the battery when it's cold, so it's taking us a little bit longer. It'll be about 21 hours.

00:12:33 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 5:

Come to Tampa and go to the Joe Show Pirate Festival, that Gasparilla festival that they're doing.

00:12:40 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 8:

I don't know. We'll think about it. Come on.

00:12:43 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 5:

Come on. You might see me dressed as a pirate.

00:12:46 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 7:

We forgot our costumes, so maybe next year.

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 7:

I'm sure there's a spirit Halloween somewhere in an old Rite Age.

00:12:53 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. There's got to be. I think Spirit Halloween's everywhere. All right. Well, feel good Friday, so that feels good. Let's get the show started. We're going to give you a chance to win some prizes right now.

00:13:02 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:13:08 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 5:

This was the year that Lana Del Rey's dress at the Grammys made news.

00:13:14 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

I am wearing, it's called, I think it's a designer called Aiden Maddox. We actually just, we just got it from the mall, so yeah. I remember that. I love it. I remember that.

00:13:27 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 5:

Ted Lasso was on Apple.

00:13:29 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 2:

Just curious. Could you explain the offside rule? Well, I'm going to put it the same way the U.S. Supreme Court did back in 1964 when they defined pornography. It ain't easy to explain, but you know when you see it. What year was it?

00:13:46 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 5:

Let's set you up with the prize. All three happened in the same year.

00:13:51 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 4:

Good luck. Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:14:03 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 5:

I know I say this all the time, but man, you sure get a lot for just $15 a month at Planet Fitness. And that's where Kev and I go to work out. We love to watch TV when we're there. But one of the things that we like to do, too, is get a good sweat on. So why not get into Planet Fitness today, free fitness training, and get a great workout going. PlanetFitness.com.

00:14:26 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 3:

Add the Mojo in the Morning show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss a show. We're going to take you back in the... It's the Mojo in the Morning, back in the day.

00:14:39 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 4:

Tell us when this stuff happened.

00:14:40 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 5:

And Lana Del Rey was the talk of the Grammys in this year because of how she purchased her dress for the Grammy Awards.

00:14:49 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I am wearing, I think it's a designer called Aiden Maddox. We actually just got it from the mall. It worked.

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

The show Ted Lasso, which if you haven't watched the first couple of seasons of that, that show was great, premiered on Apple TV.

00:15:08 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 2:

Just curious, could you explain the offside rule? Well, I'm going to put it the same way the U.S. Supreme Court did back in 1964 when they defined pornography. It ain't easy to explain, but you know when you see it. Hey, and the big song.

00:15:25 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 4:

Where's Harry been, Megan?

00:15:27 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm filming a Marvel movie, right? For real? Who are you going to be? We need music. Star Fox.

00:15:33 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 4:

Music from Harry. We need it. We're begging for it right now. Otherwise, we've got to keep on playing that Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars song. Yes?

00:15:40 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 6:

It's a lot like Ariana Grande with Wicked. It's like, I know we got the album right before the movie dropped. Like, are we going to get a Harry album right before this movie drops this summer?

00:15:49 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh. So is he doing that now where he's doing movies and then he just does the songs for the movies and that's it?

00:15:56 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 6:

No. Well, no. I don't know. I want a full album. Because he did Harry's House last year, but also when did My Policeman and Don't Worry, Darling, come out? Because I feel like those are pretty much back-to-back. But was he on tour when those movies were coming out? I don't know. He's so busy.

00:16:13 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I just pushed a button by accident. I don't know. I was going to look it up. But I'm not as big a historian of Harry Styles, but I just want more music.

00:16:22 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 5:

I mean, Samesies. Yeah.

00:16:24 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 4:

You know you are a historian of Harry Styles. That is BS, by the way.

00:16:29 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 5:

You want to talk about all the outfits that he wore on tour and what combination, on what date, what city?

00:16:34 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 4:

She'll go deep with us.

00:16:35 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 5:

She'll talk about Harry Ween.

00:16:37 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 4:

I still haven't gotten to our winner, so let me get to my winner here. Hold on a second. Emma, you there? Emma?

00:16:42 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 3:

I am. First time, long time.

00:16:44 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Emma, what year was that?

00:16:50 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 5:

2020, baby.

00:16:52 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with the prize. You got tickets to go see Foster the People. They'll be at the Fillmore Theater in downtown Detroit on February the 17th. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster.com. You got a pair for free. Congratulations.

00:17:07 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Thank you guys so much. Go Pistons. Yeah, baby. Six in the East. Stop playing with me. I know. I know. Has Cade made the All-Star game yet or no? They announced starters yesterday. He wasn't announced as a starter, but there is still time for him to be announced as a reserve.

00:17:25 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, if he doesn't make it, then we should have, like, a mass chaos movement against the NBA. We should pull the team from the NBA and tell them that we're not going to play anymore. Kevin, you've got to do that. Get on that microphone. All right, hang on one second. We're going to give you a chance to win Kendrick and SZA tickets right now. Text squabble to 95500 for a chance to win. That is squabble, S-Q-U, ooh, I forgot, S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E. That's it, squabble.

00:18:01 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 3:

B-B-L.

00:18:03 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 4:

Go and do that right now. Standard text and data rates to apply. Check your text beforehand, though, because it always ends up being that we get a bunch of text messages of words that are not squabble, and then those don't get entered into the contest. Good luck to you.

00:18:17 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what are we kicking off the morning with?

00:18:23 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Well, in executive action, I'm told they're not executive orders anymore. They're executive action signed by President Trump yesterday calls for making thousands of documents related to the assassinations of JFK, RFK and Martin Luther King Jr. public.

00:18:41 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 2:

Everything will be revealed. okay

00:18:47 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 6:

give that to rfkj yes sir yeah i gave the epstein files talk about it that's next megan right he's at day one and he's doing this why not include him yeah hopefully that's coming um and he's done

00:19:04 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 4:

like 500 of these things so far these even sure that marker those sharpies going but his order

00:19:09 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 1:

gives the director of national intelligence and the attorney general 45 days to come up with some sort of plan for releasing all rfk and mlk files they've been given 15 days on the jfk files though neither office has been filled yet so it's interesting they got to get some people in

00:19:24 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 4:

there before they can release all this stuff so it's interesting real quick i want to mention this and later this morning we'll play the news clip on this they say that the jfk thing we're not going to hear we're not going to find much out of out there's not as much of conspiracy even though many believe the CIA killed JFK. His family is very, very

00:19:41 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 1:

upset, by the way, that all of this information is going to be released. Well, they hate

00:19:45 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 4:

Trump, so that's why they're even most upset about it. The Kennedys. Well, except

00:19:49 - 00:19:51 | Speaker 3:

for R.K. Except for Robert, right?

00:19:51 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 4:

But the other thing is they say the MLK one is the most complicit of stuff. They say that the FBI was doing a lot of

00:20:00 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 7:

illegal things tracking so much of what uh martin luther king jr was doing and they say that it's going to make the fbi look like it is one of the shadiest of organizations way back then

00:20:13 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 6:

it's not breaking news we need to know this no people just needed to be verified to my friend

00:20:20 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 5:

yeah why aren't we getting the fred hampton stuff because it's the same thing but do it all if If you're going to release it, do it all. Show how often this was happening.

00:20:29 - 00:20:38 | Speaker 6:

I mean, this is America. It's been happening, and now we're just going to be able to see it. That's why I put that Judas and the Black Messiah clip in there yesterday. It also knows.

00:20:38 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 2:

Catching you up in case you missed us talking about it during yesterday's last Dirty of this show. This year's Oscar nominations include a first. Carla Sophia Gascon becoming the first openly transgender person nominated in an acting category. She is up for an Oscar in the Best Actress category for her role in the Netflix film Amelia Perez, which by the way is getting the most terrible reviews I've ever seen a movie get, but it's like a musical film. She portrays a cartel leader wanting to transition in secret from male to female. Amelia Perez earned a total of 13 Oscar nominations, the most of any movie this year. The other four Best Actress nominees are Demi Moore for The Substance, Mikey Madison for Nora, Cynthia Erivo for Wicked, and Brazilian star Fernanda Torres for I'm Still Here. Wicked did get 10 nominations, in case you were wondering, including one for Ariana Grande for Best

00:21:34 - 00:21:58 | Speaker 5:

Supporting Actress. Now, Demi Moore is supposed to be amazing in this movie. I haven't seen it the other day, and I was so mad that you had to pay so much for it. Now I'm paying for all of them because they're all nominated. But she's not won an award, and I can understand why they would give it to her because she's supposed to be amazing. She's had a legacy career, whatever. But if If Cynthia Erivo wins, she'll be the youngest EGOT winner. So it's, like, very interesting to me to see these two big names and, like, who's going to get it.

00:21:59 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 2:

Brianna Chicken Fries talking about her sexuality, wondering if she is now lesbian after her messy Zach Bryan split.

00:22:08 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 4:

I've realized I'd never want to have a boyfriend again.

00:22:11 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 1:

Like, going to go down the girlfriend lane or just keep it?

00:22:13 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, everyone's saying I'm a lesbian, which is fine.

00:22:17 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 3:

So, maybe? Well, you've dabbled. You've dabbled.

00:22:21 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 4:

I've dabbled, for sure. And I'm thinking maybe girls is my play. I think that they're better. So maybe I am. Like, maybe I really am just fully a lesbian. And that's why none of my relationships with men have ever worked out. And you guys...

00:22:33 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 7:

Great job, Zach. What? I'm sorry.

00:22:37 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, I thought you meant our Zach. Me too. I was so confused. I was like, that was kind of aggressive.

00:22:43 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 7:

Zach has turned some girls lesbian, too. So there's something. This is unbelievable. My bad.

00:22:48 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys love the iconic rolls at Texas Roadhouse? Of course. So good, right? Well, guess what? Those yummy rolls are a trick to get you to order more food. Health and wellness coach Brendan Oxford warns that, yeah, those rolls are absolutely delicious, but the highly processed sugary bread will spike your blood glucose levels and send them crashing very quickly, making most of us even hungrier than we already were when you walk through those Texas Roadhouse doors. By the way, each roll contains 227 calories, 8 grams of fat, and 28 grams of carbs. And again, just a trick to get you to order more from the menu.

00:23:26 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 5:

Why was that necessary?

00:23:27 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Sorry.

00:23:28 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 5:

Everybody hates you for doing that. We don't need to know.

00:23:30 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 2:

I actually thought that they weren't as high in calories as I thought they were. So 227? 227 per roll. Oh, I thought they were like 500 with the butter and stuff.

00:23:39 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 7:

Are the Red Lobster Cheesy Biscuits also similar to that? Probably.

00:23:43 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but this is like finding out what hot dogs are made of. Like, I don't need to know.

00:23:47 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 2:

I like it. Is it going to stop you? No. Okay. For all of today's Dirty Ketchup on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio app, or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:23:58 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 1:

00:24:14 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 7:

This is a big one. It's historic. Eric's going for 15. Is that today? He's been on with us.

00:24:20 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 6:

Today.

00:24:21 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 7:

Today's day. 15 wins would get him into the Tournament of Champions. It would also give him an opportunity to take on Shannon the next time we play, which will be a Monday. And he said in the beginning, he's like, can I please come in if I get 15? And we're like, yeah, absolutely. but we need to check on his health because yesterday he said that he got hit with a little bit of bronchitis how you feeling today eric i'm feeling okay steroids are great oh steroids are magical yeah as long as you're on your antibiotic for for more than 48 hours according to dr werner we're okay so you have you been on uh meds for at least today

00:25:00 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 1:

Today would be three days. Okay, that's good. Don't worry. We're going to go back to 2020 days when we swabbed everybody and made everybody take tests and stuff like that if you come in studio. I've been there, done that. Monday could be the day. Are you ready? I'm excited. I can't believe we're here with all these scandals and everything.

00:25:22 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 2:

We finally made it.

00:25:23 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 1:

Listen, like you said yesterday, all I asked for was you to get exciting. You got exciting. I like it. thank you it's been fun your challenger this morning though don't look past her is from roseville a supervisor for a construction company uh amy what company do you work with who

00:25:41 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

do you work with i work in the construction industry okay that's a great company i love them you just don't want to say the name of your company i'm trying to be secretive mojo

00:25:52 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 1:

okay that's okay do you guys do like mafia stuff are you guys illegally like burying people Oh, no, no, no.

00:25:59 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 2:

We're all legal money.

00:26:01 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I just want to make sure of that. Whenever I hear people say that, I'm like, I like that.

00:26:06 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Why would I brag about being illegal?

00:26:09 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 1:

When I have neighbors and I'll ask them the question when they first move in, I'm like, hey, so what do you do? And they're like kind of shady with that. I'm always like, all right, this is like they're in hiding or something. I don't know.

00:26:21 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 2:

You know, I do have a little bone to pick with you, actually.

00:26:24 - 00:26:25 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead, pick it.

00:26:25 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 2:

I do not appreciate all of the Chris Brown slander coming out of your mouth the other day.

00:26:31 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I like her. Chris Brown, I'm sorry, makes great music, but he is not the greatest of human beings. He's had some bad stuff in his past that he needs to repent for.

00:26:43 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 2:

I think he's repented, but I'll let you go.

00:26:46 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 1:

Sure. Tell that to the latest allegations. All right, what are the latest allegations? We're going to do, well, I don't know. We'll see you then in the next weeks. Exactly. You're just talking on the side of your ass. I just hope that President Trump signs the order to release all the Chris Bound documents. I hope that comes soon. Oh, boy. He need to release his own first. All right. We're going to put Amy in a soundproof area because Eric's going first per the other day with Chappell Rohn. We got five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. All right. You ready? This is for $15. Question number one. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are suing the city of L.A. over damages caused by the wildfires. What reality show made them famous? The Hove. Question number two. The cheapest ticket right now for this year's Super Bowl is right around $6,000. In what city is the big game taking place?

00:27:50 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 2:

New Orleans. I wish I was going.

00:27:53 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 1:

God dang it. Question number three. Speaking of the Super Bowl, this Kill Bill singer is joining Kendrick Lamar during the halftime show. Who is she? Biza. Question number four. Oscar noms came out yesterday. Which movie had the most nominations this year with 13?

00:28:14 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy.

00:28:14 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. Three. Two. Pass. All right, passing that one. Question number five. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively have been in The Dirty and The Five at 655 a lot lately. What other superhero did he play? Hint, the movie Bombed. Three seconds. Green Lantern? Let's bring our challenger back from a soundproof area. Eric's proving that he's not a cheater. Four out of five, Eric. Four out of five. But there's still a chance. The last three mornings, there has been a chance. This guy. Will Amy be the person to do it? There are no Chris Brown questions in the 5 at 6.55. Here we go.

00:29:10 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 2:

That's okay. I didn't think you would have any. All right.

00:29:15 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 1:

Question number one. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are suing the city of Los Angeles over damages caused by wildfires. What reality show made them famous?

00:29:30 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 2:

The Hills.

00:29:31 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Under one. Question number two. The cheapest ticket right now for this year's Super Bowl is right around $6,000. Imagine what it would have been if the Lions were to get there. In what city is the big game taking place?

00:29:50 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 2:

New Orleans.

00:29:51 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 1:

Correct. 2-2. Again, she gets the next three questions right. One person out of 15 tries has beaten Eric. Eric. Question number three. Speaking of the Super Bowl, this Kill Bill singer is joining Kendrick Lamar during the halftime show. Who is she? Scissor. Yeah. Three to three. The next question is the only question, the only question that Eric has missed. Question number four Oscar nominations came out yesterday which movie had the most nominations this year with 13

00:30:32 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 3:

um was it wicked I just did that story both of you guys she's gonna lose yeah three to three

00:30:44 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 1:

it's Amelia Perez and it doesn't matter literally just did it 10 minutes ago I did

00:30:49 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 2:

I did hear it. I'm sorry, Shannon. I lost that, too.

00:30:53 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 3:

You know what? We'll talk about it when you come in studio tomorrow.

00:30:56 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 2:

Or, I mean, Monday.

00:30:56 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 3:

No. Don't come tomorrow.

00:30:59 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 1:

Question number five doesn't matter. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively. They've been in a lot of dirty lately. What superhero did he play other than Deadpool? Hint, it bombed. The movie bombed. I have no idea. You would have missed it. She would have missed it. Green Lantern. Green Lantern.

00:31:19 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 3:

Eric, 15-time champion. You did it fair and square, too.

00:31:26 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 1:

Let's go. Thank you. Eric, my man. How does it feel, buddy?

00:31:33 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 2:

It feels fun. It's awesome.

00:31:36 - 00:31:51 | Speaker 1:

I can't wait to see Eric come in on Monday in person. You're going to get up early. You're going to have to come down to Eastern Market in downtown Detroit. You're going to have to find parking because the parking stinks down here. Make sure you get here early, okay?

00:31:52 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 2:

I still get down there a lot, so I'm excited. I'll see you guys soon. Shannon, let's go.

00:31:57 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 3:

Let's go.

00:31:59 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 1:

Coming for you, Shannon.

00:32:00 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for rooting for me, guys, even when it was low and down. Thank you.

00:32:07 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I will tell you this. There's a lot of people that turned on you the course of the last three days, but I think that people will realize that this guy proved that he's a great champion. and Monday morning we'll find out if you're the greatest of them all, and you will take on Shannon. Hang on one second, buddy. We've got a bunch of prizes. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. We're giving you a chance to get out of cold weather. We're going to give you a trip to Florida coming up at 730. Today is the day that we not only grab a winner that will qualify for that trip, but we also will grab the grand prize winner. So, Lydia, get all the names together, and we will draw after the next winner, and that will be in about 25, 26, 27 minutes, okay? All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. The text is 95500. I have a quick question for you, and it involves, yes, our favorite topic, pooping. Do D. What is the etiquette surrounding going number two in someone else's house? I've got a personal story with this I'm going to share with you, and then I want to know what your thoughts are, guys. I had to go so bad. it felt like a gluten duty anybody that has a gluten allergy it's the worst first off I get arthritic hands like my hands tighten up on me first when I realize that I've been infected

00:33:55 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 3:

so that's like your warning sign to prepare yourself

00:33:58 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 1:

yeah which I know that you got a million allergies you probably get warning signs don't you when you know oh god I got an EpiPen

00:34:05 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 3:

oh for sure when the hives start on the insides of my cheeks I know it's not going to be good

00:34:11 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 1:

It's the worst.

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 3:

That's my face cheeks, not my butt cheeks.

00:34:14 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Just to clarify where it is. I wouldn't see those. If they were on the butt cheeks. For those that don't know, when you have a gluten intolerance issue and then you get gluten in your diet and you have to go to the bathroom, those bathroom breaks are very smelly. So what do you do? Like this happened. We went to a friend's house to eat. And I was going to the bathroom. And first off, first and foremost, I go in and I know it's going to also be a noisy one. So I run the hot and cold water. I got like the water blasting. I don't actually, it was one of those bathrooms too that has a tub attached to it. Like there's a tub shower.

00:35:00 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 2:

there and i'm like god should i just turn the shower on too make it even more obvious well i figured make it all steamy and stuff because if you make it steamy sometimes it gets rid of the smell um then i cranked up just so you know it's the opposite don't do that really yes it absorbs and keeps that smell in there i didn't know that yeah god thank you for telling me um well i i had the fan on they had one of those fans that was like and you know like their overhead one like it sounded like it needed to be cleaned or something it was so bad i i what i ended up doing was i looked underneath their counter and they had soaps and all kinds of things down there she had uh uh she had like uh deodorants and things like that i'm spraying everything in this

00:35:45 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 4:

place it was crazy can i be honest though yeah okay that's not on you they're bad hosts I think that if you have people over it's your responsibility to make sure everybody's comfortable in every situation and I don't mean to brag but I actually think that I am really the perfect place to poop if you're not at home because when you get set up I have like an echo dot in my bathroom and I'm blaring music in there the whole time you're over whether you have to use the bathroom or not just so it's not awkward that you need to turn it on it's already playing there's a candle lit before you come over so it smells good in there and you leave the fan on before they come over so they never have to switch it it's just ready to go that sounds perfect and you have poopery or something don't you i have room spray in there like i want everybody because like you mojo i have stomach issues mine are a little bit different but i understand that embarrassment that's not the person hosting well let me tell you something i don't have any of those things except the

00:36:52 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 5:

candle i do have a candle in my bathroom always burning because i don't want you to poop in my bathroom that is terrible i take everything out except for the toilet and toilet paper do you really well i don't have any i really don't have it you know how weird i am though

00:37:07 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 2:

about people pooping yeah can i go back to the poopery i think that just smells like bad scent over bad poop like i i agree with you i don't think it does anything what do they say it's like putting lipstick on a pig it's basically like putting perfume on a poop exactly um easton what's going on easton it's mojo in the morning show how are you

00:37:30 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

hi first time long time um so i actually monday night i had some buddies over and um one of them had to poop so bad that i just kept saying no and he kept asking me he finally just left my house went all the way home drove like 20 minutes home and then came all the way back like i forced him to drive home why why didn't you let him poop in the crib because it's my house like i don't want him

00:38:05 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 4:

pooping in my bathroom you're evil you want people to be uncomfortable in pain and not around you

00:38:14 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

that you're evil i would rather him not think of my bathroom while he's over i wish you nothing but

00:38:20 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 4:

Red lights.

00:38:22 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 3:

That's rude.

00:38:23 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 4:

It's rude you don't let people use your bathroom.

00:38:26 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, real quick. How long of a drive are we talking? Like, if it's like, you know, two minutes or so. It was like 15 minutes for him. No, that's a long one. That's great. No. You get caught by some lights, you know, you have issues, you know, getting in and out of your house and out of your house. I mean, especially with inclement weather. I mean, you don't want inclement weather with inclement.

00:38:48 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 3:

The roads were pretty bad, and I made him drive home. Duty!

00:38:53 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

What a guy. What a friend. Thanks for the call. Hold on a second here. I never thought I'd see this on a call screen board. Shauna, what's up? What did you want to say? Hi, Shauna.

00:39:08 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Hi, friend. I want to poop at Megan's house. You're more than welcome. So my kid got suspended from school in first grade because he went to poop upstairs because the downstairs bathrooms were all nasty and gross and smelly.

00:39:24 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, wait, so the upstairs bathrooms were cleaner?

00:39:29 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but the downstairs bathrooms, because they were like for kindergartners, they were all pissy and poopy and gross.

00:39:35 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, kids pee on the ground and everything. I saw something yesterday. I actually went to a public place. I went to pick up a carryout order at this new restaurant, and they had underneath the urinal something I'm going to buy for us. It was basically like a shower mat that collects all the pee that might not go. You know how we always – I have an issue getting it in the urinal. I liked it because it was basically an exorbitant thing that is a little carpet thing.

00:40:05 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 4:

Why is it that you guys can't aim into that big hole? I think Smith looks around. It's like he wants to make a painting on the wall. But it goes everywhere but the huge hole that you're supposed to get it in.

00:40:21 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 3:

I think there should be a new law. A law. And full jail time. No warning, no fines. Full jail time if you don't sit down to pee as a dude. sit down to pee i am sick of all of you y'all are nasty i like to sit down to pee but a lot of

00:40:35 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 2:

people say that if they have large penises they can't do that that's great to fold them i'm also

00:40:40 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 3:

an equal opportunity uh rule maker so women who hover and don't sit you jail time both of you guys who don't sit down women who hover jail yeah um all right i like that that's a good law

00:40:53 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

Annette, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. I love the word blowout on your call screen. What's going on? Annette?

00:41:06 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 7:

Hi. No, not a blowout. No, no, no. I was calling because if you light a match and blow it out, I guess, yeah, that's a blowout, and blow out the match, it absorbs the sulfur from the match, absorbs all the poopy salt. That is true.

00:41:19 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 4:

That does help a ton. Who brings matches with it? I have a box of matches in my bathroom.

00:41:25 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, a box of matches on the back of the toilet.

00:41:28 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I'm going to carry you around. And you're talking like the wooden matches, right? The stick matches? Yeah.

00:41:32 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 6:

No, it can be any match. It can be any match. It can be a pack of matches that you get from the gas station or the hotel.

00:41:37 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to get some matches. I'm going to try that, Annette. Thank you so much. When it said blowout, I just read blowout. I thought Annette had a blowout. I was like, any woman that will admit to a blowout is a woman for me. What's up, Brittany? How you doing? You have advice for me on guest pooping. Hi, Brittany.

00:41:59 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 6:

Hiya.

00:42:00 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Brittany? What's going on?

00:42:03 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 6:

So I had gastric bypass, and if you spray the toilet before you use the restroom, it actually helps mask the smell.

00:42:12 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 3:

With the poopery? Yeah. Yeah, it's always shocking to me when Shannon and Mojo say it doesn't work. I feel like they're not using it properly. You put it in the, you spray it in the bowl before you go. Yeah.

00:42:22 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, see, I thought it was after.

00:42:23 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 4:

I still think it smells like poopery and poop. Oh, I don't.

00:42:26 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 2:

I've done it differently. I, I, I, you, you guys taught me something. I always spray it after the fact.

00:42:31 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 4:

No, you got to spray it before you go.

00:42:33 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Somebody made it stinky. And courtesy flushes, right? You got to do a courtesy flush right away or what? Depends on the toilet. I don't know.

00:42:42 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Your relationship.

00:42:43 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 2:

If they, if you got some floaters in there, yeah. Did you say relationship or did you put a T at the end?

00:42:49 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 3:

No, definitely a pee.

00:42:52 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? Sean, Sean's a manager of a Jimmy John's and wants to call out a customer. What's up, Sean? How you doing?

00:43:00 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you? Good. What's going on? Oh, I was a manager at Jimmy John's, and we would have people come in and use the bathroom, and there was a person that went in there, and there was poop all over the wall, the ceiling, all over the place. How? And that's where the trustee shoes get.

00:43:16 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 3:

It's raining from the ceilings.

00:43:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 2:

The trustee shoes.

00:43:19 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand.

00:43:23 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 2:

I always wonder, how is it that somebody can miss that bad that it hits the ceiling? They didn't miss. He drew up.

00:43:31 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 4:

That was on purpose.

00:43:33 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 2:

Picasso. That's hysterical. Picasso, I like it. Hold on, Mario. This is a great one. Mario, you cannot poop at your girl's house. What do you do?

00:43:44 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 5:

well this was a new girl that I had I've only been to her place like one other time at this point in time but I was on my way to her place and this is probably my second time over to her place but I was on my way when I started to get the bubble guts and I'm thinking to myself I'm gonna go doo-doo bathroom and have her think like less of me if she like If I sync up her bathroom, that's a no-no. So I went to the gas station just right down the road from her. Thank goodness that they had a public restroom.

00:44:23 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I love it. The gas station that probably has like a hubcap attached to the key. I always love when you go to the gas stations and you have to use the bathroom and they give you the key, and the key's got like a two-by-four or something attached to the thing. I think you're smart, by the way, Mario, because I don't think early in a relationship a girl wants to know that there's a guy that's blowing out her restroom, you know? That's not a good idea. You'll never get anything from her.

00:44:51 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 5:

One thing if it's like a year into the relationship, but no, this is like less than a month.

00:44:57 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 3:

A year feels like a long time. That feels like a long time. no pasta dinners on any dates the worst man that's a bad one that's and you got to hope that they got a good gas station close to their house when they're doing this all right well thank you so much in Leslie and Steve I apologize for your bathroom and the the remnants of it there's nothing worse by the way than that happening and having the bathroom be right there where you guys are all sitting like you know like who designs a house like that yeah oh geez nothing unleashes stupidity more than that person in front of you in the drop-off line for school come on get that kid out of the car faster mojo's got a show to do this is mojo in the morning all right it is mojo in the morning yesterday was kind of a fun day i wish that we had all the security camera video of this But Megan and Zach witnessed some craziness. Our security guard needed security. And Megan, you were there to help.

00:46:01 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 4:

I mean, not just witnessed. We really were the heroes of the day. Say it correctly. Heroes. Thank you. Sorry. I learned that from Mojo. We could be heroes.

00:46:14 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 3:

Will you be my hero, baby? Yeah, baby.

00:46:18 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 4:

I got to tell you, though, we truly did save the day. I felt so bad for our security guy. because he was sitting up at his desk and this bird indoors was dive bombing his head over and over and over again. And so Zach and I came up with a plan because we solve problems. Absolutely. We solve problems. So I ran to the kitchen here in the office and I grabbed a bag. I have no idea who's there. There's somebody's here and I just totally stole them. Grabbed a bag of chips and I started crushing up the bag and i ran back out to the lobby like she ruined the bag of chips they were perfectly fine so sorry to whoever that man is who brought those chips in for lunch because they gone uh but i made a trail from the bird out to a door and then zach got a bucket and we had this giant garage door open in this room and the bird kept swooping at us and it was terrifying But we got the bird out of the building. We are heroes. We are absolute heroes.

00:47:20 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 3:

What kind of bird was it?

00:47:22 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 4:

It was like a crow. It was terrifying. It felt like truly out to get us. Because, first of all, you know this bird had an attitude for not going south for the winter. The fact that it's still here, it gives zero Fs. You know what I mean?

00:47:35 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 3:

How did the bird not get out of here before it turned into sub-zero, you know?

00:47:40 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. That bird, it's out to get us. It's like Megan. It likes the cold.

00:47:46 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that bird has been hiding in this building all along and just kind of like found its way out?

00:47:51 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 1:

I think it came through the front door at Majeeb's area, like his office, and then it went through his head. And then that's when me and Megan noticed. And then we were like, oh, we got to take care of this because Majeeb is freaking out.

00:48:05 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 4:

That, and I'm in love with Majeeb, so it was like maybe he's the best. Maybe he'll think better of me.

00:48:11 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 3:

All right. Here's the deal. If you've ever had, like, a bird in your home or business or even in your car. Has anybody had one in their car? You got to tell us how the hell you got it out. Go back to Najeeb. What is his name? Najeeb? Majeeb. Majeeb. Or just call him Jeebo. Or Mr. Hill.

00:48:29 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 4:

Or Jeebee.

00:48:30 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Can I be honest with you? That guy might be the best looking guy in the city of Detroit. He's so high.

00:48:35 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 4:

And he's so nice. And nice. It's not fair.

00:48:39 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

He's our security guard. If there are any women that are single, this guy sits at the front desk of the iHeart building here, Detroit, and he's there daytimes. And I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. I look at him and I'm going, he's like 6'5 or 6'6 and like one of the most handsome guys I've ever seen in my life. It's craziness. Megan, you got a little thing for him?

00:49:01 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, absolutely. Wait, is he single? Oh, I have no idea. Oh, I'm going to ask him today on the way out. I don't know.

00:49:07 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 3:

I think he is, because I think I've said to him before, I said, man, you must have ladies all over the place. And he was like, kind of, nah, he was downplaying and stuff. Sierra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. How you doing, Sierra? You had the worst kind of bird in your place. What was it?

00:49:23 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had a bat in my apartment in college. Yeah, at first I didn't know what it was, because I wear glasses. I did not have glasses at the time. I was blind as a bat. and I didn't know what it was. I just knew that it was something in my apartment that was huge, and I did not want any dealings with it. So I had to call a friend over, and he came in not knowing what it was. He thought that I was scared of a bug or something. And when he showed up, I see that he didn't have any type of equipment, weapons, nothing. I said, what are you doing?

00:50:00 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 3:

He walked in, he sees that it's a bat. He said, oh no, that's a bat. So I had to call someone else the next day and they came over with a shoebox and a broom and they ended up getting, I didn't go back in. So I didn't see exactly how they did it because I refused to go back in until I saw it released from the shoebox.

00:50:22 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

Girl, can I tell you my bat story? Because I don't know what it is about men and gaslighting us about bats, but during COVID, I lived with my brother. And I woke up in the middle of the night to this glass scraping noise. And I had, like, one of those, like, chandelier lights, like, fan ceiling fan things or whatever above my bed. And it was coming out of the glass of, like, that light globe or whatever. And I was like, what is that? I told my brother, I was like, there's something in here. And he's like, go to bed. It was probably just a dream. Like, you're such an idiot. Go to bed. And two days later, he finds a bat in the house. This bat was above me while I was sleeping for two days. Two days. Before anybody found And then he was like Oh yeah I probably should have Taken care of that And taken you more seriously What is it with men and bats? It's crazy I don't know

00:51:07 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

That was his exact demeanor He showed up like Open the door Just unlock the door I said You're gonna need something You're gonna need a weapon He said Just unlock the door

00:51:19 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 5:

It's funny about the guys Who you call in To come remove the bats They all drive like hoopties They show up And they look like guys That just You know Got this job because they realized that nobody else wanted to do it. And exactly right in the fact that they don't usually have tools. They basically are like, yeah, open a window. If I knew that, I would have just done it myself. But, yeah, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Hold on. Michael, what's going on, Michael? How you doing, buddy? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Michael. What's up with people? Is everybody just sitting back just listening to us and hanging out? Like, I've said your name like three times. Can you not hear me, Michael? No, I couldn't hear you at all. Oh, okay. There's something wrong with this effing phone system here. We got birds in it. That's the reason why these birds probably eat through our wires on the goddamn thing. All right, what's going on?

00:52:11 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 4:

So I had a bird in my home, and it was going through all. So I had three levels to my home, and it was going through the vent system because we have central air. So it was going from the third floor to the first floor. And I eventually got it out of the vent. And so we had to use a basement window to get the bird out of the house. But it stayed in the house for like two hours going between the vents. So we couldn't find it.

00:52:36 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. And was it making noises and stuff?

00:52:40 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 4:

It was making noises. It would actually fly into the basement and then fly back up in the basement.

00:52:45 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. That's awful. And by the way, you know what it is? This is another case of animals attack. Like, you know how deer and turkeys and all this stuff are all over the place? These birds are like the same thing, too. Like, they're taking over our land.

00:52:59 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 1:

The turkeys, though, are scary and very aggressive.

00:53:03 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 5:

Do you know, we had a texter here that wouldn't go on the air. It says, it can't go on the air. I had a peacock attack me. Where do you find a peacock?

00:53:10 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, at the zoo, they just walk around. What?

00:53:13 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 5:

I know, but this is a peacock in somebody's neighborhood, though.

00:53:15 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, yeah. I knew somebody growing up that had one as a pet in their backyard.

00:53:21 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hey, we asked about the question, has anybody ever had one in their car? Larry had it. Larry, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. A bird got in your car?

00:53:31 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It was on my lunch break, and I had a, just before my lunch break, I was told by everyone there was a bird in my car. I had the windows cracked a little bit. I couldn't see it anywhere. I looked all over. The bird bust got out, but there was poop everywhere. On the inside. And so I figured it got out. So, you know, I just kind of went on with my life. And three days later, it's a hot summer day. I decided to relax in my car at my break. And as I'm living there, all of a sudden, the smell hit me. The bird couldn't get out. It ended up dying under my seat. Oh, my God. Oh, man.

00:54:09 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 5:

So you had bird poop all in your car from this thing?

00:54:13 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. And I found out something. You know what that white stuff is in bird poop? What? It's bird poop, too. You're so dumb.

00:54:21 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 5:

He's sending me out for something. You are so dumb. I'll get off our phone. All right. Hey, thank you for the call, Larry. We appreciate it. I like, by the way, the texter that texted in and said, I have a new segment for the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's date your security guard. We need to do like a little dating game with him. Lydia tried to call him, but I guess he was too shy to come on the radio with us.

00:54:43 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

Is he single, Lydia? Did you ask him? I think he is. I don't know.

00:54:47 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm almost positive he is. But if not, I just got into his relationship and probably ruined it or something.

00:55:00 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 2:

Number one in Muskegon. Number two in Grand Rapids. Come on, GR. Mojo's not above paying you to listen. Help him get to number one so he can feed his family. This is Mojo in the Morning. Hey, we're going to give you a chance right now to win a trip to Florida. It's our last qualifier for a trip to Fort Myers Beach. More Florida trips next week. Make sure you're waking up with us. We're going to get you out of this cold weather. And thank you to Visit Florida. We love those guys. Visit Florida. Check out what they've got to offer, and there's so many great things that are going on. Actually, I thought it was funny. This just shows you how cool the people are at Visit Florida. They've turned all the areas that got like six inches of snow into sledding lands. They're now doing sledding mountains in some places up in northern Florida where they got a ton of snow. And I saw yesterday, it was like a bunch of nuns and priests having a snowball fight. Anytime you see nuns and their habits and priests and their, like, you know, priest collars and stuff like that, out throwing snowballs at each other. You've got to love it. That's called a habit? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 95th Collar.

00:56:16 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:56:19 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 2:

All right, so what is going on this morning with Throwback Throwdown? Who's going to be the winner? Kev's been on a roll starting this year.

00:56:26 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 1:

Baby, double-double, looking to make it three.

00:56:29 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Mike and the girls, or should I just say the girls, are going to get a chance to play coming up here this morning against Cav. Let's see what happens. What's going on, Shannon and the Dirty?

00:56:40 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 3:

So the Hillstar, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, along with actually a handful of other Pacific Palisades property owners, are now suing the city of Los Angeles and its Department of Water and Power over damages caused by that Palisades fire. And basically, their suit is saying, you know, the city's water system or water supply system rather failed because it wasn't at all designed to battle severe wildfires. And they're saying the city should have known this was a possibility and should have been more prepared. They are seeking an undetermined amount of compensation for all of the property damage that they suffered. SZA is joining Kendrick Lamar on stage on the Super Bowl halftime stage. Specifically, you saw Kendrick and Apple Music dropped a trailer yesterday and it's him walking on the football field and then SZA walks up behind him. So they are going to lead the halftime festivities from the Caesar Superdome in New Orleans on February 9th.

00:57:41 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 1:

Now, Mojo. Yes. You've been very vocal about Kendrick Lamar and saying he lacks, let's say, a certain je ne sais quoi, a certain star power. You thought he needed to add someone to come out and make this Super Bowl thing bigger. Does SZA do that for you?

00:57:56 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 2:

No, I still don't think either of them are a mass appeal enough. They need to have somebody come out with them. Like Lil Wayne needs to come out, maybe do something. Somebody that kind of brings back. I don't know. The demo of the Super Bowl is everybody, right? And they say that the largest demo is usually people that are, you know, between the ages of 25 and 54 years old. I think that they may get some people that will go, huh? You know what I mean? I don't know. There'll be a little bit of that. And I'm not saying, I think Kendrick's great, but I think you have, you got to put it like a, it's got to be like a variety of artists together.

00:58:38 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you see the time prices, by the way, for the Super Bowl? Ticket Masters, quote unquote, best seat. You know how it'll tell you like cheapest, best seat, da, da, da. $19,195. That's for one. One seat. The cheapest right now is on StubHub. It's $5,618. But, yeah. Most of those best seats are above $15,000. Wow. Is that insane? That's asinine to me. How do people afford that?

00:59:03 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't get it. I don't know how people were affording just the Lions tickets. Like, I got lucky that I had friends that were all, you know, rich, giving us tickets like George over at Six. You know what I mean? Dogecoin.

00:59:14 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

I saw him the other day. There you go.

00:59:15 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is?

00:59:17 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 3:

Jeez. Okay. trace cyrus who is miley's half-brother issued a really heartbreaking plea on instagram yesterday to his dad billy ray after did you guys see billy ray's performance at the inauguration yeah oh like something was going on so here's part of what trace wrote since my earliest memories all i can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever i wanted to be just like just like you sadly the man that i wanted so desperately to be just like i barely recognize now it seems the world has beaten you down trace told his dad that he and his sisters miley noah and brandy have been genuinely worried about him for years but he has pushed them all away He writes, you're not healthy, dad, and everyone is noticing it. And he didn't get specific about the issues he believed his dad to be struggling with, but he said he thought he had a pretty good idea. And he referenced his own struggles with alcohol before offering his dad support. And he said, you know how to reach me. Billy Ray has not publicly responded to Trace's post or commented, at least from what I've seen. Billy Ray's ex-wife, Fire Rose, also kind of jumping on this bandwagon of saying, you know, there's concern here. And she said, what's being seen in public now reflects much of what I experienced in private during our relationship. But she said she's glad that light has been brought to this because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept that there is a problem.

01:00:44 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 2:

Which makes it interesting because we have discussed before on the show how Noah and Miley chose different sides in their parents' divorce. And it's like, who picked whose side and who was under the influence of what and what was going on and why. Yeah. And just another layer to the cake, right?

01:01:01 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, have you guys seen the photo? There's one in particular of Camila Cabello performing in front of pretty much an empty arena at a music festival over the weekend. Young Miami was another performer at this thing. So it's the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live. I think the show was in Atlanta, if I'm not mistaken. And there's this photo that's gone viral. Camila's on stage performing. She's kneeling. and you can see the audience like kind of in front of her and to the right of her and there's maybe 30 people i mean it's really empty and somebody told me that only 30 of the tickets for this festival sold at the time that doors opened and they still went through with it and camila still went on stage and performed so a lot of other musicians mod sun being one of them like giving her props for even going out on stage and going through with her performance. I don't know why they would still do that show. You'll see the photo today. It's everywhere. I mean, that's not her fault, and she still gets the paycheck. State Farm Arena is where it was at. Yeah, in Atlanta. All right, for all of today's Dirty, get yourself caught up by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app at MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:05:00 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 3:

01:05:51 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 1:

exist really i think at this point but no yesterday west facetimed me from the car that he he's traveling right now he's out of the country and so um he was with four or five other guys in a vehicle and um he facetimed me and i was so excited because i didn't expect to be able to talk to him let alone actually see him so actually it happened at the end of the show megan you were you were in the studio zach you were in the studio yes i started i answered the facetime and i started squealing and i'm like oh my god you are so cute i miss you so much you look so cute like i couldn't stop and i could tell that he was like and they like moved the face time like from side to side and i was like oh there are other dudes around you and i'm behaving like i would if there was nobody or else around him and so he was like oh yeah thanks i love you too it was funny to me

01:06:47 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 2:

Because he called you, which means I have some time. And then you did that. And all of a sudden he was like, so I got to go. Yeah, he did. He was like, okay, we're just saying hi, I'm going to go.

01:06:57 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny? The guys that I'm friends with, that I'll golf with, talk like really differently around their wives. Like their wives will call and these guys are like all goofy and fun and stuff. And their wife will call and they'll go, hey, how you doing? Yeah, what's going on? And their wives are like, hey, hon, how are you? What's going on? and they're like yeah okay all right and i think that in wes's case in these guys case they're doing it because they're they're thinking that these other guys don't talk to their girls or have their girls talk to them like that which is such a shame right like you know it's like you

01:07:34 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

get embarrassed and everybody's in the same boat yeah you know like you're you're all a little nicer and mushier at at home behind closed doors and we all know that but it's like this weird you're embarrassed when it happens in, I don't know, in public type of thing.

01:07:48 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 3:

It is kind of funny, though. It's like, as guys, if we just embraced it and we're like, oh, Snuggle Bunny or whatever the heck you mean. Snuggle Bunny, Shuggy Boogie, or I don't know.

01:07:58 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 1:

I did not say Shuggy Boogie or Snuggle Bunny. Thank God. Yeah.

01:08:03 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Whatever, you start calling out names or something.

01:08:06 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I did say Lovey because I call him Lovey.

01:08:08 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 3:

You call him Lovey.

01:08:09 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 1:

He's a sweet ass. You know this.

01:08:11 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Lovey, all right.

01:08:12 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 1:

And every time you X a price, lovey. I'm like, yeah, that's the name that we've had for like four years.

01:08:17 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I know. That's just the same. You guys have been together for four years?

01:08:20 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, 2021.

01:08:21 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Wow. Are you kidding me? It's been that long. That's wild. That's lovey. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Are there other women that sense that their guys get embarrassed whenever they'll call them and you guys will talk to each other? Or are there any guys that are willing to admit the fact that they kind of, like, change their tone when they talk to their girls?

01:08:49 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

You know, I'm sorry. I'm doing that to you a lot today. I hate when guys are around their friends and they won't say I love you back.

01:08:59 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever have a guy do that? No, but if that were the case, I would call right back because I do that to anybody. If my sister doesn't say it, if my mom doesn't say it, I call right back.

01:09:08 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 2:

I dated a guy that would say, you too, and I'm like, your buddies who you're with right now have seen us doing inappropriate things, drunk at a bar at two in the morning. You can say, I love you too. Like, they know.

01:09:20 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

They're discounting you when they do that. When they won't say, love you back or won't, you know, talk to you the way that they normally would talk to you, you know? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. zero uh i actually to be quite honest with you i don't think we're gonna get any calls on this because you want to know why no guy's going to admit that he talks to his girl differently because he's hoping that his girl doesn't realize it we all we all know and there are women that are listening right now they have to be the ones calling them out that's the there are women that are listening going yeah you're right i call my

01:10:00 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 5:

husband when he's at work all the time and he's in front of his other friends and he kind of has a different tone with me than he would have with me if he knows it's just me on the phone or you

01:10:09 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 6:

know there's no other people listening to this conversation i think in my situation i've never altered the way that i've spoken to my significant other when i'm on the phone but if i'm out with the homies i'm trying to rush you off the phone so i can get back to doing what i'm doing and maybe that rushing changes how you're receiving our communication and our love or maybe you don't

01:10:29 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 7:

realize that the rushing also comes off very differently on the other end that's what i'm

01:10:33 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 5:

saying you know yeah oh yeah yeah hey doug what's up it's uh mojo in the morning doug how you doing good morning i'm trying to talk to him more cool because i'm afraid who's listening hey what's up

01:10:45 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 1:

bro what i was just thinking you know the reason that we got to change it up on the phone is because we can't be having fun and letting our wives know that we're having fun without them there If we're out there having a good time They're not going to enjoy that But if we're just like, oh yeah, you know, it's whatever You know, it's okay, blah, blah, blah Then they get off the phone and then we go back to our business That's a whole word

01:11:11 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Very honest As a woman, if you're dating somebody And she doesn't want you to be happy Don't date her

01:11:19 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 6:

No, no, no, it's not that she doesn't want you to be happy It's just that when that happiness doesn't include her There's something to it

01:11:25 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 2:

So don't date her that's all you're gonna be happy you just can't be as happy as you are when you're that's not true

01:11:32 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 8:

01:13:32 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 5:

you know what every single one of those guys thinks you're the biggest freak in the world

01:13:36 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 4:

and they love you for it might be why they look weird when i come in the show

01:13:41 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 5:

thank you is that what you're calling for come on she's already freaked out enough

01:14:11 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 9:

No, I had a friend of mine named Sam Wheat, and he was married to this girl, Molly. And every time Molly would say, I love you, all he would say is, ditto. And then one day, he was murdered by this guy named... Dude, get off the phone. Get off the phone. Yeah, and Otome Brown, Otome Brown, who was a psychic, went up to Molly and was like, I have a message from Sam. And he was like, I love you. It's from the movie Ghost. And Molly was like...

01:14:40 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I've never seen that.

01:14:41 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 9:

He was like, hey, Sam would never say that. You are so dumb. Lydia, screen his calls from now on. Willie Lopez killed him. Yeah, it was crazy. It was crazy. I'm so old, Victor. Victor. Victor. I'm going to.

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Pottery together?

01:15:02 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I'm going to do to you? I'm going to kidnap you.

01:15:06 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I met you at the Jingle Ball Hall.

01:15:10 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 3:

Kev, you witnessed, or not witnessed, you heard of a situation that I don't think I've ever heard of. And you, Lydia, and I were having a conversation about this. A situation where the crazy ex comes into play, but this crazy ex was not a woman. It was a crazy ex guy?

01:15:28 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, bro. I was talking to, I won't say her name because they still kind of going through a situation, but hanging out with my friend who I haven't seen in a minute, she pulled up to a Pistons game and we kind of reconnected last week and was like, Hey man, we should, we should link up. So I went over to her home and we're chilling. We eating or whatever the case. Well, we would, we didn't eat at that point. We were going to get something to eat. So thinking about going to get something to eat, she says, I'll drive. So we go in her garage and she used to have a Jeep. This car that we got in wasn't that Jeep. So I go, you get a new car? Like, what happened to your Jeep? She was like, oh, my boyfriend busts the windows out of my Jeep. It's in the collision shop right now getting fixed. Now, in my mind, every time that I've heard about crazy exes, it's been the reverse. It's always been projected that, you know, women are the ones that key the cars, put the sugar in the gas tank, bust the windows out. So I was extremely shocked when I heard that her boyfriend was the one that was busting windows out the car on his Jasmine Sullivan.

01:16:29 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. What'd she do? At that point? What did she do that he had to bust the windows out of her car?

01:16:36 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 4:

I ain't dig that deep. You didn't ask that question? No. I don't think there is a reason. I don't think I would ever, nothing could ever make me bust your windows out. That just seemed weak to me.

01:16:47 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 5:

No, I agree with you. I would just be curious. Yeah.

01:16:50 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 3:

That's not a guy thing usually because the guys usually don't do that because you're right. They just play mind games or do crazy stuff. They don't usually get destructive unless, I don't know, if there are any listeners that want to share with us, like, what did their crazy ex do? And that is kind of a wild thing.

01:17:07 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm talking about all the windows. Back window, destroyed, like, all of them. And that means that he was really hurt.

01:17:15 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 5:

That's why I said I want to know what, geez, what happened.

01:17:19 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 3:

She got the good. She obviously really caught him off guard. Or he was just then nuts in itself. Probably both. Yeah. By the way, does anybody know if Jasmine Sullivan has ever had a relationship after she made this song?

01:17:35 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 5:

She was just in town. She opened for Maxwell.

01:17:37 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Did she ever end up getting another guy? Anybody that just blatantly comes out and says, I'll bust the windows out your car. You don't ever want to break up with her. Let her break up with you.

01:17:47 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 4:

I want to say she had an album called Hotels that was crazy.

01:17:50 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Was it?

01:17:51 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Have you ever had a crazy acts? Me? No, I don't.

01:17:55 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:17:56 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

I would say I've done some emotional damage to some women who've acted out emotionally, whether it be calls or pop-ups or stuff like that, but never any physical damage or harm. A few of my clothes from my last relationship, you know, magically had bleach on them, and it was an accident, but hey, who knows?

01:18:13 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Was it bleach in bad spots, or was it, like, looked like accidental bleach?

01:18:17 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if an accident is you knocking over the whole can, and it falls on hoodies and stuff.

01:18:21 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 3:

Maybe, I don't know. I like the girls that don't bust the windows, but do stuff to your clothes, like where they cut them up and stuff.

01:18:28 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 5:

I told you about my friend who cut every, when she found out her, they were actually engaged at the time, found out that he was cheating on her. She cut every single zipper out of every single pair of pants that he owned. That's insane. Diabolical.

01:18:43 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome.

01:18:43 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 5:

Every single one.

01:18:45 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 3:

That's Criminal Minds. Jasmine, but not Jasmine Sullivan, is on with us right now. jasmine on line number 27 what did your crazy ex do to you jasmine good morning first of all

01:18:57 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 2:

first time long time hey okay so one of my exes actually cut up my couches and and smashed my

01:19:11 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 3:

my tv oh my god very great really cut like cut with took a knife to your couches

01:19:18 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

so my a razor to my couches my new brand new sectional i bought and cut up my couches

01:19:25 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 1:

and i'm gonna be honest you can go out and replace the tv same day right it's annoying i he shouldn't have broke it but you can go out and hit up a store and get it couches can take

01:19:35 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 2:

months to be delivered no i had to get rid of it i actually went to the store and got like needle and thread and tried to read you know oh back up and it didn't look bad but every time you know a piece of of of the inside would come out my kids would start pulling it out and it just looked

01:19:51 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

tacky now jasmine i had to get a whole new couch were you there when he did this or did you come

01:19:56 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

home and see it i came home

01:19:59 - 01:20:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:20:00 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 6:

what did you do we were going through a breakup yeah but did you cheat on him or anything no no no no he got caught okay okay yeah he's just crazy he got caught i'm sorry jasmine that

01:20:14 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 7:

happened to you yes i i did i did smash one of his tvs but oh you did that first but but that's because okay all right now i think so it was like you rule one of my i always like that by the way she's like let's make him look crazier and then i'm gonna be crazy

01:20:39 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 6:

uh grab lisa lisa what's up it's mojo in the morning what did your uh ex bust what did they do

01:20:45 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 2:

we had um bedroom in our bedroom the closet was full mirrors and he thought i was hiding a guy in there so he smashed it and shattered the mirrors oh my gosh what made him think that there was a guy in there yeah because we were separated and he's always accused me of cheating and i want and i never did but we were separated he accused me of cheating and he thought i hit

01:21:08 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 6:

somebody in there that's that's actually insane that is yeah that is nuts uh god yeah how how debummed would you be if you're the guy that breaks the mirrors only to find out there's

01:21:21 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 7:

nobody inside now you gotta replace them looking dumb as hell in the mirror grab uh grab cameron

01:21:28 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 6:

on uh line one what's going on cameron how you doing hi how are you good what's up

01:21:36 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 3:

uh yeah i just have a crazy girl ex-girlfriend story oh man i'm sorry i just broke up with her i was just done and she would like every day for about like three weeks she would come and just put cones in random places in my house and she'd put them in front of my car.

01:21:53 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Combs? Is that what you said? Like traffic cones?

01:21:56 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 3:

Like big, yeah, orange traffic cones. Okay. And then she'd always turn in the mirrors of my car. She did this for about three weeks and I couldn't get her to stop.

01:22:05 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 5:

So random. I'm not going to lie, I kind of love it. It's not real damage. But it's just annoying. And it shows how dedicated she was to go around and get them. Every day. Yes.

01:22:17 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 6:

Although there is some construction site It doesn't have cones anymore. Tell line A or line two, it's initial A, that we're going to try to voice disguise him. Zach, will you fire that soccer up? Voice disguise line number two. Initial A, are you there?

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm here.

01:22:41 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 6:

How you doing? What did your crazy ex do?

01:22:45 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 4:

After I got a PPO against him. Uh, he went to my ex-husband and made a bunch of lies up about me and my ex-husband, who is not involved in my children or my life, gave up custody, walked away from us, filed a motion to try and get my children back.

01:23:08 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 6:

Oh no.

01:23:09 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 4:

And they tried to take my kids away from me.

01:23:11 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 6:

So it wasn't that he tried to damage something physically. He tried to damage your reputation enough to get your kids taken away from you.

01:23:19 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I claimed I was drugging my children, that I was selling myself.

01:23:24 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 6:

That's horrible. Did you end up having to fight this? He called the IRS on you? I went, government? I'd rather have my windows busted, you know? Did you lose your kids?

01:23:40 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 4:

No, no. We went to court, lasted 10 minutes, and they had to pay my attorney fees.

01:23:49 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 6:

because they had no proof of anything but what went so wrong in a relationship that

01:23:57 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 4:

made him do that um what was so wrong he's crazy yeah i don't i don't like that because sometimes people just don't he he got the ppo sometimes guys just or people i shouldn't say guys but

01:24:10 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 5:

people just don't want to be dumped there's not anything that they did to justify that behavior There's a massive insecurity in being alone with some people.

01:24:20 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 6:

Hey, thanks for telling us that. Let's get back to all the stories that are.

01:24:24 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 5:

I know that's hard for you.

01:24:27 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 6:

Two more. Hold on. Chris, Chris, are you there? How you doing, Chris?

01:24:33 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you, Mojo?

01:24:35 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 6:

Good. Your ex did something to your motorcycle that honestly I'm kind of laughing about. What did your ex do?

01:24:41 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 1:

That's all right. I kind of laugh about it, too. She got mad one time, this was about a decade ago, and she went out in the driveway and literally kicked it over in the driveway and started smearing the deodorant stick all over it, thinking the deodorant would peel the paint off of it.

01:24:57 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 2:

Damn it.

01:25:00 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 4:

We actually get along now. We co-pair pretty good.

01:25:04 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Do you still have the motorcycle? Is the motorcycle still in your lives?

01:25:10 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 4:

No, I got a car now that I customized, but it's just a funny story to look back at. Have you ever thought about, like, for Mother's Day or anything, just a stick of deodorant? Right, right, right.

01:25:23 - 01:25:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, thanks for the call. Grab Amanda's the last one, because Kev brought up the ex that bleached his clothes. this is crazy amanda you were the ex that did bleach what did you do amanda no

01:25:34 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 7:

all right i've called before and i said that i found out after i moved that he was cheating on me and he was actually married so when i left this was in texas it was 120 degrees the apartment somehow got completely trashed the milk uh heat turned all the way up milk anything that could spoil and bleach all over everything, clothes and piles, dumped on, so that when he got home, the nice heated apartment smelled amazing with bleach everywhere and milk, and it was fun.

01:26:10 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 5:

I like how you said somehow. Somehow.

01:26:12 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 7:

That's not what happened. I have no idea.

01:26:15 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 5:

I just need to make it very well known that Kev is not okay. I'm pissed, bro.

01:27:38 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 5:

Shots? I'm sick right now. Kevin? I'm sick. You can't win them all, my friend. It's just a game. I hear it is a game, but somebody's got to win. And Mike, great job, and thank you to Mike, and listen to Mike in West Michigan on B93. All right, let's get a look at what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. What's going on?

01:27:58 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, an executive action that was signed by President Trump yesterday calls for making thousands of documents related to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Public.

01:28:10 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 3:

Americans are one step closer to learning more about three of the biggest assassinations in U.S. history. President Trump has signed an executive order to release all documents related to the killings of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. 99 percent of the JFK documents have been released, but thousands of

01:28:32 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 1:

files remain either partially or fully withheld. What remains is about 4,400 documents from a variety of federal agencies, primarily the CIA, that still contain some redactions ranging from a word to a paragraph to a page to the whole document. Experts don't expect any bombshells

01:28:55 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 3:

from the files. Tom Samuluk, who serves on the board of directors at the JFK Library, says he reviewed all classified documents years ago. He tells our station in Boston, the records will not reveal any smoking gun. There will be some puzzle pieces that will be put back in that will tell a more robust and rich story. Lee Harvey Oswald was identified as the sole gunman, but conspiracies abound. A former Secret Service agent with Kennedy at the time wrote a memoir in 2023 saying he found a bullet in the back of Kennedy's car but forgot until recently. His account challenges the government's finding that a single bullet hit both Kennedy and Texas Governor John Connolly. As for the MLK assassination, those documents could reveal more about allegations the FBI was complicit in his killing. The Justice Department determined James Earl Ray acted alone, but a congressional investigation found the years-long surveillance on King by FBI agents in order to undermine the civil rights leader was probably a felony.

01:29:52 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Probably. You know what's amazing about this? I think in all three cases, I think we're going to see that it was government.

01:30:00 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 6:

like cia fbi some of these guys and i think we're going to know the names because back then during the kennedy days you know who was running the cia it was george bush senior and we're going to see some of the people that became eventually even bigger in washington dc that were tied into the martin luther king jr and i think that the reason why over the years we haven't seen those released is because it's only going to make these guys look

01:30:32 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 7:

bad. I like the way you're talking right now. I'm telling you. I just don't like the redactions. Like, if we're going to put it out, pull it all out. What are we doing? We're putting blackout sheets? Well, that's what they're saying.

01:30:43 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, all of it's getting unredacted. Oh, okay, okay. I misheard. I hate, actually, that he said there are going to be no smoking guns from this.

01:30:54 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 6:

Basically, they're trying to say the kennedy thing was the kennedy thing and it was probably a lone guy that was involved in the deal but you know that there was a lot of talk back then if you watched any of those movies that were out i mean jfk and those those are great movies you knew that there was something more

01:31:11 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 4:

to the whole story but dave coulier's wife melissa coulier sharing an update on his health as he continues to undergo treatment for stage three non-hodgkin lymphoma this is from wxyz channel

01:31:23 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 2:

seven right here in detroit i mean he has some really tough days you know and as the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult and we love her dave she praised

01:31:34 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 4:

her husband's positive attitude and said that is what you need in order to really fight i want to play you a clip that was making its way around uh i saw it on instagram reels last night dan john campbell last week versus new chicago bears head coach ben johnson in chicago yesterday it

01:31:52 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 1:

was one of the things that for somebody like me was appealing about playing here wanting to play here and coach here this is a sleeping giant for football going into this season i felt like

01:32:03 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 5:

this place was a sleeping giant to be honest with you i was i personally was more concerned about the chicago bears than was anybody else in this division interesting huh holy crap

01:32:16 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 6:

stealing his words there huh ben johnson you know what we're gonna find out i was talking to a buddy of mine yesterday one of the biggest lions fans i know um he was telling me he's like we're gonna find out either one of two things either ben johnson was the genius with all these plays or dan campbell was because next year we're gonna have a totally new offensive coordinator and this new offensive coordinator is going to come in here and he's going to have to live up to all the fun stuff that we got a chance to see these Lions do over the last couple of years. And it's going to be really wild to see if Dan Campbell played a bigger role in it than we even knew.

01:32:51 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what I found out yesterday? It was that Ben Johnson does not have good hair. I've never seen him without a hat and I've always thought he was so cute. And then I saw his hair, I was like, don't think you're cute. Isn't it funny?

01:33:01 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 6:

Guys, some guys with hats are great looking. And then there are some guys with hats that don't look great.

01:33:06 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 7:

Looks like a totally different person. I always wear hats, right? So I remember I went around one of the Sherelle kids at the Pure Heart Foundation. The girl was like, you don't look the same. She was like, you in the pictures? She said I was a hat fish. Oh, wow.

01:33:21 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 4:

I was like, damn. Oh, I'm eating that. That's okay. And lastly, if you fly Spirit Airlines, heads up on this one. Spirit just updated its in-flight policies with a brand new dress code that could leave some of its passengers grounded for wearing revealing clothing or displaying, quote-unquote, offensive tattoos. So spirit passengers are now prohibited from wearing see-through outfits, exposing private parts, I mean, that's fair. Or displaying lewd, obscene, or offensive body art. They clarified that guests must agree to those terms when booking your tickets. So this is not going to be a surprise if you get on, or if you try to get on the aircraft and you're turned away the policy comes after an incident back in october it went viral where two women accused spirit of sexism after being removed from a flight for wearing crop tops so they're saying anything like that anymore you're not

01:34:19 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 3:

going to be able to board well there is confusion here because i don't think crop tops are inappropriate they're saying it's rude revealing if you're that that to me seems like loose terminology. Yeah, because see-through outfits isn't the same as a crop top to me. Correct. And then on top of that, they're going to put in the terms and conditions. Who reads the terms and conditions? So people are going to be surprised. And third, what are they defining as inappropriate body art? You know what's inappropriate?

01:34:45 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 6:

Inappropriate is taking your shoes off on a plane. You're somebody that goes barefoot on a plane. You ever see those people that do that thing? Like, that's more inappropriate than somebody showing off their tats. And I agree with you, Megan. It's going to be all relative. I think The only inappropriate body art they're going to probably say is. lewd comments and lewd things like that that make people there was there was people that had to get off planes i saw some video of this that were wearing like political hats like the people that were wearing those maga hats where they were making some of those people get off of airplanes and i'm thinking man now you're going towards freedom of speech yeah yeah all right for all

01:35:20 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, special announcement. Kev lost the throwback throwdown this week.

01:35:38 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 5:

Why you gotta wrap it in, bruh?

01:35:40 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 3:

Firing shots at him. That's me. That was me.

01:35:46 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 5:

That was good, though. That was me. That was good. I can't deny it. Hey, Shannon, how many games have you won this year? Okay.

01:35:52 - 01:35:53 | Unknown:

Hey.

01:35:53 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 5:

can't fire shots with no bullets bang bang

01:35:56 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 6:

Lindsay's a winner Lindsay you're going to see Tate McCray we're going to set you up with a pair of tickets

01:36:07 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited

01:36:08 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 6:

hey next week the prizes get good too and I'm going to not discount this because this is huge I mean any station that's giving away Tate McCray tickets I think we're the only ones we got sold out tickets from now until the show because we're presenting that show keep listening. But next week, we're going to change things up a little bit. We're going to bring Justin Timberlake tickets back to the mix. Yes. We're also going to do Kendrick and SZA, and we're going to do, I think, Post Malone, and who else, Lydia? We've got a whole bunch

01:36:34 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 1:

of stuff, right? Mojo, we have more Tate McCray

01:36:36 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 6:

01:36:42 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 1:

Woo, thank you. My daughter's going to be freaking out. She's 14. Kate is her. She loves

01:36:48 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 6:

her. We love you for listening. So excited. Where do you listen to us? Where are you at?

01:36:54 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

I am just south of Grand Rapids. So WSNX, baby. I love it.

01:36:59 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. We need your help, by the way, Grand Rapids. Literally the only market. We're like barely at number two in Grand Rapids. We're almost about ready to beat Free Bear and Hot Wings. So Grand Rapids, pull through for us, okay?

01:37:12 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, heck yeah, for sure. Love y'all. Love you.

01:37:16 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 6:

We'll be right back with more.

01:37:18 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 4:

Detroit has officially frozen over. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:37:22 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 6:

You see the picture of the truck in Dearborn completely frozen? All right, we'll be right back. Don't go anywhere. During that last break that we had, I went and just did a little thing on my son's radio show, The Joe Show, which is on the iHeartRadio app. You can find them, The Joe Show. You can put them on your presets, too, with Mojo in the Morning. That would be nice. Chelsea and I would appreciate it. But the Joe Show's on in Tampa, and this weekend in Tampa, Florida, they have their annual festival called Gasparella Festival.

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 2:

Why is it called that? Do you know?

01:38:03 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 6:

There's something to do with something with Gasparella. I don't know.

01:38:07 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 2:

But it's a pirate festival.

01:38:09 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 6:

Anybody that knows the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, their mascot is a pirate, and they got pirate ship in their stadium and stuff like that. So I guess the pirates, I guess, saved Tampa or something. I don't know what the story is.

01:38:22 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea.

01:38:23 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 6:

I just have a son that lives here. I don't know. So this is actually kind of funny. So they have a festival, and it's literally where people do a parade through town, and they all get drunk, and they dress up like pirates. And we were just on the air talking about it, and Joe gets really into this. Joe and Jet are, like, super into it. Like, they go out, and they go out and buy costumes that are, like, all leather and stuff. Like, they look like the goofballs that go to the Renaissance Festival.

01:38:52 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 5:

Love it.

01:38:53 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 6:

And what we just talked about on the air was Ashley said, Ashley goes, I don't do this thing. I won't dress up at all. And I said, Ashley, why is it that you won't dress up at all? And Ashley goes, black people don't dress up as pirates or in any kind of costumes for goofy, crazy stuff. She says, and those that don't know, Ashley, who used to be on our show, Ashley Nix, Ashley Nix is black. And so she says that she doesn't participate in stuff where she's dressing up unless it's Halloween, and she barely likes to do that. And I said, well, that's not the case, because Kevin on our show is all excited for Post Malone to come to town.

01:39:32 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to say costume. I got the cowboy fit in the Amazon cart right now. You have been talking about this for two months. I'm ready to go. Ashley may be on to something because I didn't really start dressing up for real until last year. But this year, I'm with all the smug. I'm dressing up for everything.

01:39:46 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, you can call it a costume if you're buying it for a specific event. You're only ever going to wear it once. Every time I go to a country concert, I go, look at all those girls hobbling in their new boots that they're only going to wear once in their lives.

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 6:

It's hysterical. But, oh, real quick.

01:40:00 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 4:

Chad just walked into the studio. I also got another great one, too, to talk about here real quick. Chad, say hi to everybody. Howdy, howdy. What up, Jay? And Joe, and Joe Show. Joe just walked in, too. So we were just having a conversation about this Gasparilla thing. Oh, and Ashley and Terry, the whole show came down. I love it. Everybody's here. I was just telling these guys about being on your show, talking about how black people don't dress up. Ashley, I'm dressing up, dog. But, yeah, Cav's into it. Cav, by the way, is getting his black card taken away from him.

01:40:29 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's very rare.

01:40:31 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm with all the smoke. He likes this stuff. But real quick, this is a Gasparilla festival. And, Jed, what do people dress up as? They dress up as pirates. As what?

01:40:41 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 5:

Is that a joke?

01:40:41 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 1:

What did you just say?

01:40:43 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

Pirates. Like, the word pirate is like, I'm pirating something off of somebody. Like, you know when back in the early 2000s where you were- It's a pirate. No, it's pirate. Here's the deal. It's a pirate. Pirate. Okay, Joe, let me ask you this question then. When you have, when you rip a DVD that's like back in the day, they used to say, no, you're pirating.

01:41:06 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 4:

No, you're pirating. No, you're not. No, you're pirating.

01:41:10 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 3:

No, you're not. No, it's for me. It's a pirate fest. You and Steel Car. It's Gasparilla. You and Steel Car. We're pirating. It's Pirates of the Caribbean.

01:41:20 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 4:

Jed's walking around. Oh, that's a good one. I go, Jed, what are you dressing on? He goes, I'm going to be a pirate. And I go, pirate, what is that? And then I'm realizing he can't pronounce the word. It's Pirate.

01:41:29 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, what is, what do you say the other way you say it? Pirate. That's all, folks. Pirate? It's a pirate. It's a pirate. It's not that. You have a pirate. You have a pirate. It's not the Pirates of the Caribbean. Well, when you get caught doing, ripping a DVD or ripping, it's called pirating. No, it's called pirating it. You're pirating it. Yes, you are. All right, real quick. I also say mustache wrong, apparently, too. How do you say it? Mustache. Mustache. Yeah.

01:41:59 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 2:

Do you also say advertisement instead of advertisement? Schedule?

01:42:03 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 5:

No. Schedule? No. Diabetes. I do say aluminium sometimes. That's because I had an Australian science teacher.

01:42:10 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 3:

Instead of saying diesel, he says dissel.

01:42:12 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

No, I said diesel.

01:42:13 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 5:

I do say diesel.

01:42:15 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 4:

Diesel, yeah. I wanted, first of all, okay, got a couple of things here I want to throw out. And these guys got to go back to their show here sometime soon. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What is the word that you have friends of yours that can't say? Because Jed can't say pirate. The other one is Ashley's on to something that black people just do not like to dress up in certain things.

01:42:35 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 3:

Black people dress up, too. Bro, I'm telling you.

01:42:37 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Do you know, Kev, do you know a black pirate?

01:42:42 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 3:

You got me there. Yes, they were black pirates. Historically accurate black pirates. There were plenty of them. Is it that? I'm the captain now? Actually, I'm the captain now. That's true. I'm the captain now. That's a fact. I'm the captain. Pirates freed slaves, and then they became pirates. Read a history book. Watch a movie, apparently.

01:43:06 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 4:

Ashley, at this Gasparilla Festival, because I'm going to get a chance to go to my very first one, will I see any black people there?

01:43:15 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 2:

You're going to see me. You're going to see Audrey, who's in promotions. You'll see maybe a black cat roaming the streets.

01:43:22 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 4:

Ashley, throw on a fit, man. Come on. Will you dress up at all?

01:43:28 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to have a hoodie on. I'm going to have a Joe show, find the Florida man hat on. I'm going to be warm.

01:43:33 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

I told Ashley that I was going to buy her.

01:43:35 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Because he thinks that I'm a poor black lesbian that can't go on my own pirate outfit.

01:43:41 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 5:

That's the words that Ashley put out of Joe's mouth. Woke Ashley. No one likes woke Ashley.

01:43:47 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Carrie is there. Carrie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

01:43:52 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 1:

hi um i grew up in florida he's totally saying pirate wrong okay what part of florida i don't think that's just for florida people i grew up in orlando but i'd go to tampa all the time

01:44:05 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 5:

those are lando people we don't include them but i love orlando i love orlando i've never i have

01:44:11 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 4:

never heard anybody say pirate until i heard jet say okay so orlando no like old man old man that's

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 5:

right old man i am a 60 year old man if you even saw what i was wearing right now what's up casey

01:44:25 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 4:

uh thank you for the call by the way carrie casey what's going on it's mojo in the morning we're talking about how certain people can't say certain things what's up yeah he sounds just as ridiculous

01:44:34 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 1:

as my ex-husband when he used to say salmon instead of salmon

01:44:39 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 4:

when he would say that would you guys correct him or like if you guys went out to a restaurant he and I'll take the salmon with the waiter or waitress and look at him like he was crazy?

01:44:52 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 1:

100%. So my kids just now refer to it as pink fish. Pink fish.

01:45:00 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 3:

That's funny. You guys weren't in here when I talked about this. Thank you for the call. Ashley, so Kev's excited for the Post Malone Jelly Roll Tour. Yeah. He's going to dress up as a country guy. He's going to get in country outfit and all this stuff.

01:45:13 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 2:

Now that I can get behind. What?

01:45:15 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 5:

Because you're going to a concert and you've got to fit in, bro.

01:45:17 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 7:

You're going to the biggest pirate fest. You're going to the second largest parade. You know how fly Kev is going to look at some cowboy boots?

01:45:24 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 6:

You know how fly he's going to look at some cowboy boots?

01:45:27 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 2:

It's pirate. It's pirate.

01:45:30 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

I love you, Jed.

01:45:33 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 2:

I got to go save my mustache. I'll see you later.

01:45:36 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 4:

Love you.

01:45:38 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I will say this, though.

01:45:39 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 4:

She's still yelling.

01:45:40 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 2:

Some people say losser. I say lasher. Oh, yeah.

01:45:45 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 3:

That's one, too.

01:45:45 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 4:

That is a thing.

01:45:47 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 3:

Or gratiate. People say gratiate, I've heard. No, that's just wrong. That is pure. Melody says that I say something wrong, that I should be making fun of Jed. Melanie, what do I do? Hi.

01:45:57 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

hi you say realtor instead of realtor i think that's a popular one though yeah i refuse to pronounce that correctly i don't care i know i know i'm just saying like the pirate thing jed's the only one but the realtor realtor whatever whichever one's right nuclear nuclear like a nuclear bomb yeah like nobody says february right nobody library nobody says that you know

01:46:27 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we should not be bringing this up because then we're going to bring out that lady that always yells at Kevin all the time. My girl Valerie? Yeah, is that who it is? Her name is Valerie? PTO police? Yeah. What does she yell at you about? Some PTO related. Yeah. She gets all crazy with anytime Kevin says words, she'll be like, oh, somebody texts every time I say ask.

01:46:51 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 2:

So I got to slow it down so I can make sure I pronunciate every single syllable and ask. It's not acts. It's ass.

01:46:58 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Kev, say similar.

01:47:00 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 2:

Similar.

01:47:01 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 4:

No, that's not how you know it. He said it right that time. Similar.

01:47:04 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 2:

I'll be saying similar.

01:47:04 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:47:05 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 3:

Similar. Come on. I'll say this. All those that were just given as quick examples, those are all ones from saying something probably too fast. Pirate makes no sense at all. That's like talking out of your pirate ass at that moment. Hold on a second. Grab Hunter real quick because this is funny. Hunter, are you there?

01:47:27 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 5:

what's up hunter hi um so my sister say toilet instead of toilet what did i say oh that's a southern thing isn't it yeah toilet toilet we're from northern ohio well that is kind of well every once in a while ohioans say something very southern i'm like

01:47:48 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 3:

no we're in the north no no no i had an aunt that used to call it a turlet instead of a toilet I love when people say turtleneck.

01:47:55 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 4:

Wersh. Oh, I hate wersh. Or wersh. Is that a wolf? It's not a crick. Have you ever heard anybody who can't say dror-er-er-er-er-er-er-er? I had a cousin who could not, like, once he said the word, it was like he couldn't stop himself from saying it. Like dror-er-er-er-er-er. It just kept going.

01:48:16 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 3:

Marnie, what's up, Marnie? How you doing? Hey, Marnie. Hey, tell everybody about your friend.

01:48:23 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 6:

How are you guys? Good morning. We're great, Marnie. Great. Hey, I got a friend that says pillow instead of pillow. Drives me nuts. Yeah. And a friend that says milk instead of milk. That's another super popular one.

01:48:38 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. The milk one is a big one. I used to get made fun of all the time. Yeah. The pillow one is kind of funny, too. I'm going to lay on my pillow. And you say it like that. How about Brock? Grab Brock for a second. And Brock, your dad can't say the word huge?

01:48:57 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 1:

No. No matter how hard he tries, he always pronounces it U-G-E. So he'll always have a huge surprise for us. A huge. That's all I'm saying. An absolutely huge surprise. Huge. Hey, Kev, first time, long time. Hey, Brock's on the field.

01:49:16 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 2:

I love the name, Brock.

01:49:18 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 1:

I can't tell you guys. Love you guys. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting to get into you guys. I've been listening for probably about 10 years since I was in high school. We love you, too.

01:49:28 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 3:

That's huge. Thank you for that. We appreciate it. Angelica's next. Angelica, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. What is the word you can't pronounce?

01:49:39 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Hi, this is Angelica from Detroit. Yes, I want to say everybody, we're all black, everybody in my family, especially the older people, say Amblam. I want to pick on you, Mojo, because you'll get.

01:50:00 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 5:

Every, like, fourth or third caller's name wrong, you got my name wrong, like, two months ago, and it's Angelica, and you pronounce it like a drunk person.

01:50:10 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 1:

I said Angelica or something like that. You get everyone's name wrong.

01:50:14 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it's my favorite thing, Angelica. He gets so creative and fancy with them.

01:50:19 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. I apologize.

01:50:20 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 5:

I love you guys.

01:50:21 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 1:

Listen, by the way, you have a very sexy voice. I just want you to know that. So, thank you for calling Angelica. We appreciate it.

01:50:29 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 4:

Love you back. I love you, too.

01:50:30 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 1:

All right, take care. All right.

01:50:31 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:50:47 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Paying bills. We're going to be paying bills coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning show. I got a couple of things I wanted to do to get to. There's a couple of things in the news this morning or trending this morning about guys that I find to be very, very interesting. I know this morning we were discussing guys, how they'll talk differently when they're around their girls or around their buddies in their girls call. And then this came up on my phone. I don't know if it's just the algorithm or something. Got it. There's three different stories that kind of caught my eye. Can I bring these up real quick? And then we'll get back to the rest of the show. Number one, I thought this is interesting. Men got taller and heavier at twice the rate of women over the past century. According to the World Health Organization, the past century, guys have increased their height by approximately 0.66 inches for women. guys 1.59 inches for men so that's interesting but the weight part that's most interesting the weight gain 5.95 pounds for women 14.29 pounds for men so guys are getting way fatter but way taller than their women did they attribute it to anything they go through this thing they say the difference in the rate they believe probably is genetics that their families were a little bit taller or heavier too oh I didn't know if it was something like yours something

01:52:30 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 4:

we're consuming that's in our food that is causing like just naturally people

01:52:35 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 1:

to be taller and heavier and I think it's definitely hormonal which is interesting because it's hormonal going through the food but it says it's interesting because women tend to prefer taller men well in contrast women's height isn't so important for the guys which is wild because I know know some guys that are like they love when women are are tall like they love uh tall women but they're saying that the women are definitely shorter over time so that one was interesting the other one too is young men say are saying no to sex the guys right now like 22 to 34 years old are staying sexless and more so virgins longer than ever before so it's it's become less important to them and that is attributed Shannon because you were going to talk about what is attributing to one. A lot of times people are saying it's the video game playing and also porn watching. I was going to say

01:53:33 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 4:

porn. Yeah, that makes sense to me.

01:53:38 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 1:

10% of young men and 7% of their female counterparts are saying that they're still virgins and they're between the ages of 22 and 34 years old. So they're staying virgins longer, they're having less sex and they're also waiting obviously to have sex and last but not least men need friends guys are losing friends so guys so if you ever think and they usually say that they lose them between the ages of 30 and 90 years old is when guys will fall off on the friends a little bit so guys will have less friends as they get older and they'll lose some of their friends and a lot of that is having to do with guys you know moving and and kind of traveling around like not staying in one place

01:54:24 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 3:

a six year gap is crazy though a lot of things can happen in 60 years but it but it's also at

01:54:30 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 1:

the age of 30 though you'd think that at 30 years old you're kind of solid with your friends at that point you know true although i will tell you this i feel like i gained more friends as i got older like i had a lot of friends younger but i felt like i gained true friendship later in life like

01:54:47 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 3:

real like more real substantial friendships that actually were built on something well and i and

01:54:52 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 1:

i've talked about this numerous times i feel like my true friends are usually people that i met through my kids so over time It's like the commonality of them also being dads and kind of having, you know, stuff to do. Like the guys I coached with or the guys that, you know, are dads of the, you know, my sons. I think that those were the kind of the people. Like you have your buddies that like will always know you, like the guys you grow up with. But they're not living here because I grew up in Chicago, in the south side of Chicago. They don't live here, but I talk to them all the time. But the guys I truly hang out with are usually the people that, you know, the boys went to school with. which is interesting and i know we've talked before on the show about friends and like do you how many friends do you actually need i used to be the one of the people that you say oh i love to have as many friends i can i think you need three good friends i've always been a believer that you get three good friends that those are the people like the people that are truly your friends have

01:55:49 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 4:

you ever heard the phrase about how there are different types of friends you have friends for a reason friends for a season and friends for a lifetime and if you go back and think over like your life and who your friends are like have been over the years you can categorize reason season

01:56:05 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 1:

lifetime seriously think about that today do you do you think that do you think when you think about that like can you name all those friends for the reason the season and all that stuff like

01:56:15 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 4:

can you like i mean i could i could say yeah i could sit and identify them yeah yeah and like you even said you even said part of it like a lot of the friends that you have or you meet a lot of friends like in the middle part of your life and it's usually if you have kids and it's the parents that you're hanging out with all the time and doing all the things with you know that's like a season and some of those friends make what go on to be lifetime friends but that's where they

01:56:40 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 1:

you know that it's the season that they start in it's it's funny i call i say my friendships are interesting i have my younger friends like the friends that i grew up with yep went to school with went to high school grade school lifetime you're still brad college brad yeager brad yeager brad yeager tom barrett lifetime friend yeah those are lifetime friends then i have the friends that are my i would call my my radio friends like the people that i've known over the years of working in radio and then i have the friends that are my friends that are the my kids friends parents and stuff like that and those are kind of like the three levels of the different friends that we have like couples friends and things like that you know like the people that i would go and and crap in their house and have a gluten attack in their house like i talked about please listen to the podcast of that this morning and you know what else I think too and this is something with Kevin in you know and Shannon you guys both have gone through splits and stuff in relationship breakups that's when you realize who some of your real friends are because the friends that and I've seen this numerous times with with people that I know that have gone through divorces or breakups the people that will come to you and say hey I'm not going to judge but I'm here for you as a friend and then you notice that the people that are the ones that will judge and

01:57:57 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 4:

yeah you know kind of uh not be so great and who you just like naturally drift away from because

01:58:01 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 3:

of proximity you're not spending as much time with proximity friendship is crazy even when you talk about those childhood friends like sometimes the only reason you're friends with somebody is because they live you stay home and didn't go to college and like that's who was around you know

01:58:13 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 1:

type of vibe yep um all right when we come back here next on the mojo in the morning show after I give you this word to win a thousand dollars Shannon with probably the most shocking news and this deals with women now Shannon just give me a quick little statement the bikini bush is back

01:58:33 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 4:

I thought it never went away okay everybody was just like quiet and looking at me no I'm just I

01:58:40 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 1:

just took that in anytime I can hear somebody say the bush is back there it's it's back we'll be

Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys with us thank you for being here uh we have the last dirty of the week coming up here in just a little bit we will end the week with a good one uh in a matter of moments also on the way before we take off today uh you know that's a second

02:00:00 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 5:

song right uh kev with that and shannon up next with uh the bush is back we'll uh we'll talk about that in a by the way a specific kind of bush though kind of yeah bush coming up here in just a little bit i didn't realize there was different kinds of bushes but this one is definitely one uh you would want to know about uh we have tickets to give away for post and jelly roll we'll give you out a word in just a little bit so that you can text it in to win so get ready for that word and then the number is just 95500 all right it's mojo in the morning shannon what's back

02:00:35 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 3:

this is so weird to talk about when our boss tony is just staring at us through the window in our studio but the bikini bush is in for 2025 so like ladies wearing a bikini and having their bush hang out of the top and sides i'm sorry and this is like this is all over tiktok um especially in the days before tiktok was going to be banned but also cosmo just did an article on it vogue just did a huge article on it and if you're if you keep up with any of the runway trends a lot of the spring runway shows for 2025 the fashion houses will show like see-through dresses and the models are wearing underwear or like a thong and you can see their bush oh my god coming out of the underwear i'm not for me fam not for me either but that is apparently a thing

02:01:32 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 5:

well they say everything comes back right this is like it wasn't the 70s that made the the bush

02:01:38 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 3:

popular here's the problem and we talked about this because the the girls on the show we were all talking about this earlier this morning there was a period of time where laser hair removal i mean it's still all the rage but was all the rage and everybody got all of that lasered off yeah we did so even if it's like back as a fad there's a good chunk of the female population that cannot participate yeah that and i guess you could get a i hate that word

02:02:04 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 5:

push to pay yeah you can yeah which is weird right real quick when you got the laser hair removal is it always is it completely gone forever or does little bits of it come back

02:02:18 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 3:

every now and again like stubble it should be gone forever i mean you should go get a touch up every couple of years but it's not ever going to be even close to what it was nothing lasts

02:02:28 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 5:

forever let's just put it that way i mean pretty darn close if you had good laser you don't really need much is it when you're talking about this and uh thank you for not bringing in pictures uh yeah i know but uh are there young when you say that the bush is back it's not like it's not like 30, 40, 50-year-old women doing this. You're talking like the 20-year-olds are growing big bushes?

02:02:58 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 4:

Bianca ain't here.

02:03:00 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 5:

You coming bush, B?

02:03:01 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 1:

No. Don't bring me into this. I'm not participating. I'm just asking. No.

02:03:05 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 5:

Bianca, have you heard your friends? Are any of your friends doing this?

02:03:09 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 1:

No. I've never heard anybody doing this. This is like news to me. I'm not participating either. I'm good, fam. Thanks.

02:03:17 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 5:

To me, that is... I guess I can ask everybody this question, but the the the women on the show can i ask a question who was it your your moms that would tell you to make sure that you cleaned up down there or because as a dad of boys i never talked to them about shaving and making sure that they they groom themselves and i probably did a

02:03:39 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 2:

disservice to them i don't have a normal relationship with my mom obviously so like i don't know if this is normal or not i discussed it more with my friends than i ever did my mom same okay and i

02:03:48 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

have i feel like i have a quote unquote normal i don't know what normal is but i talk to my mom all the time and wow i've never sorry i've never i don't think ever once talked to her about my yeah and by the way will you talk to lucy about this um probably yes lucy and i are really pretty open about a lot of stuff um if i'm not going to be like hey okay so i'm not going to bring it up but if she asked I think I would absolutely talk with her about it yeah I never had the conversation

02:04:21 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 4:

with any of my cousins any of the male figures in my life or my mom or my grandmama but it wasn't until a female told me that if I wanted special activities that I would have to clean up that was my hey you need to do something down there yeah moment see girls talk about it all the time girls

02:04:41 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 3:

show each other girls we're just very open about that kind of stuff so i think to megan's point

02:04:45 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

that's where we learned what we should do yeah in that area i've never once chose what style based on the dude or his preferences i could care less it is about me i am influenced by my girl

02:05:00 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 1:

friends yeah yeah so if you wanted special things done and my man's was like oh for sure i'll take care of that but you're gonna have to like shave up a little bit that wouldn't matter to you it

02:05:10 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 5:

would i don't i would take into consideration i'm talking about i would take that into consideration but ultimately then like you know whether that relationship lasts or not i'm gonna do my own

02:05:20 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 1:

thing gotcha if if the bush is back for the women is it back for the guys asking for a friend

02:05:27 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 6:

did it ever go away i mean truly y'all guys take care of yourself once and you're like oh my god i'm on top of this and then i'll see you again in three years i'll be honest with you megan i do it

02:05:41 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 1:

based on if i know that chelsea's uh going to even see it but uh there are times where i will say this to you i go through my my winter bush uh you know like i'll go through yeah i realize that And, you know, there's going to be less likely any kind of action. I don't wear shorts as much, you know, stuff like that. But I think it's nice to clean up a little bit.

02:06:06 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 5:

What I'm saying, if I go to, like, spring break and I see a woman on the beach wearing a bikini and she's got a bush hanging out, I'll be the first to say, I am going to stare. It's mortifying. Because I will be like, oh, my God. Yeah. You just, it's just not.

02:06:22 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 1:

If she's got a hot body, like, if she's, like, young and hot. I'm still staring.

02:06:25 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 5:

Then I'm staring at her hot body and her bush.

02:06:27 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 1:

I would love for anybody that is going on spring break, just bring the Merkin there and make it a big Merkin and then take pictures of what the reaction is. I think I saw a TikTok like that once where a girl was like really hot walking and she turned around and she had a big old freaking bush hanging out. What's up, Tom? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning, 844 Mojo Live. Comments on the bikini bush being back. Tomas, what's up? tom i can hear you there tom what's going on i've been talking i've been talking to you for

02:07:00 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 4:

five minutes right now you can't hear me through the bush what's up oh there was a delay sorry um okay i just wanted to say the bush is hot i mean it is it is something but finding a younger woman today that wants to do it it's hard to find okay really so when have you when's the last time you saw it's got to be controlled you gotta keep you gotta keep it under control you just can't let that thing go wild either.

02:07:26 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 1:

Tom, do you ever go to strip clubs?

02:07:29 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 4:

Not very often.

02:07:31 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 1:

Because I would love to know if there are any guys that go to strip clubs and do any of the strippers look like they have not groomed private areas? Oh, my God.

02:07:42 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, but I know my wife, she'll do it once in a while just for me, but she hates doing it, but she will do it once in a while.

02:07:50 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

02:07:52 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 6:

you just said you had a wife after 30 seconds ago going i can't find a young girl with bush so are you looking for young girls naked or do you have a wife well i got well it's complicated

02:08:08 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 4:

i got an open relationship with my wife so i've called him before about this okay okay i've got a yeah so i trying to find find other people with them it's hard to find but tom when you ask your

02:08:22 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 1:

wife to do it because this is interesting like i my wife's asked me to like pick up milk at the kroger but she's never said hey will you grow your private part hair you say to her hey stop growing you know stop shaving or stop trimming or doing whatever you're doing no she does it on her

02:08:40 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 4:

own she knows what i like so i don't have to say much to her okay all right it's fun relationship

02:08:47 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

you got there. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. It really is. Take care of yourself, Tommy. All right. Uh, Brian, uh, what's going on, Brian? Uh, what, what do you like, Brian? You like the, you like the bush? I like the bush. As long as it's clean,

02:09:03 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 3:

I like a nice landing strip. It's sexy. It shows that you can keep your, uh, keep yourself

02:09:10 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 1:

maintained. It's, I don't know. It's nice. I like it. So when you say clean, are you talking about like it has to look like she's uh like well groomed like there's not crazy hair

02:09:22 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

all over the place or what exactly who wants a crazy book nice last guy laura that's wild um nice neat clean binding strip is good okay this is by the way the greatest topic

02:09:40 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 1:

of the week. Courtney has an answer for us about strippers with bushes. What's up, Courtney? How

02:09:48 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 6:

you doing? It's Mojo in the morning. Good morning. My daughter is a stripper and a lot of her clients that come in really want the full bush. Like they like the full bush.

02:10:00 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 2:

that they can see and they like hairy legs on top of that like they enjoy that i would bet that that

02:10:09 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

would probably be somebody that would get a lot of action because i would think that it's just different right you don't expect to see it it's out of the out of the norm you know and when i

02:10:18 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 2:

like she comes over to my house she's her legs are hairy and i'm like why don't you shave she's

02:10:23 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 3:

like my clients like this she makes good money what's her stripper name do you know um star okay do you ever go and see her like i'm gonna go see my son work this weekend uh will you go

02:10:38 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 2:

and see her uh work ever i have gone to the club um a few times but i do a lot of different services for the girls i have a jazzle they're vajay days yes ma'am go deeper what you mean it's when you get it decorated i love it yes it's kind of trendy because that hasn't been around since like 2008 yeah it's it's a thing but it's starting to get bigger again shut up i wanted to

02:11:08 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 4:

come back slow down here i'm confused when you say be dazzled no vajazzle when you vajazzle

02:11:15 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 2:

what does that mean like talk me through it no no let her do it like that that was so weird listen it's like little gems in a design a therapeutic area what kind of designs are you doing any kind of whatever designs they want like you can do hello kitty um you can do saying you can do all these kinds of things this made me feel like a nurse time long time i saw a girl

02:11:41 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 3:

one time with first time long time on hers yes you can google it and you can see what different

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:14:00 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

It's the last Dirty of the week. And actually, am I right in saying this? I didn't even look at the calendar, but this might be the last Dirty of, no, we got one. No, the 31st is next week.

02:14:14 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 6:

You got a whole other week to go.

02:14:15 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was over with. I thought it was a short month. I thought we only went 30 days, but we're going 31. All right, what have we got in this hour is Dirty. It's Dirty.

02:14:23 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 6:

So Trace Cyrus, who is Miley's half-brother, issued a really heartbreaking plea on social media. yesterday, and it was to his dad, Billy Ray. And this follows his dad's disastrous performance at one of the Trump inauguration balls. I don't know if any of you guys saw that, but here's part of what Trace wrote. Since my earliest memories, all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. Sadly, the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like, I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down. And he told his dad that he and his sisters, Miley, Noah,

02:15:00 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 3:

and Brandy have all been genuinely worried about him for years, but he has continued to push them all away. He writes, you're not healthy, dad, and everyone is noticing it. Didn't really get specific about what the issues with dad were, but he did reference his own struggles with alcohol before offering Billy Ray support and writing, you know how to reach out to me. Billy Ray's ex-wife fire rose also kind of co-signed traces concerns she wrote what's being seen in public now reflects much of what i experienced in private during our relationship i'm glad the truth is coming to light for his potential good because healing is only possible when you confront the truth and accept that there is a problem i still haven't seen that he's responded to any of this yet oh i didn't either yeah uh prosecutors in asap rocky's trial are weeding out prospective jurors with Rihanna questions. Jury selection currently underway in ASAP's trial after he turned down that final plea deal and decided to fight the gun charges that he's facing. And among the questions they're asking the potential jury pool, whether they've heard of ASAP Rocky or Rihanna, listened to their music, or downloaded any of their songs. They're also asking people, and this is really interesting to me, if they've bought any of Rihanna's products, like clothing or makeup released under the Fenty brand. And the prosecution is also asking the jury pool if they could render a fair and impartial verdict if Rihanna happened to be sitting in the courtroom

02:16:29 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 2:

watching. If I knew it could get me out of jury duty, I'd say yes, and if I wanted to be on that jury, I'd say I had no clue. You know what I mean? You're just lying.

02:16:37 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 3:

I think it's so obvious when people are trying to get out of jury duty. Yeah. I just experienced that a couple of months ago.

02:16:45 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 4:

You can tell. I want to be on jury duty so bad, and I've been dismissed every single time. I even got grand jury duty once and they kicked me out. I want it so bad.

02:16:56 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 3:

Oprah says that she's been doing the shot. I don't know what she's doing. If it is something else, but she said since doing the jab, her opinion of skinny people has changed.

02:17:08 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 1:

One of the things that I realized the very first time I took a GLP one was that all these years I thought that thin people, those people were just had more willpower they ate better foods they were able to stick to it longer they never had a potato chip and then i realized the very first time i took the glp1 that oh they're not even thinking about it that's right they're only eating when they're hungry and they're

02:17:36 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 2:

stopping when they're full that's right and lastly sisa can i bring up something with that and megan i don't know if you can attest to this too losing weight your stomach shrinks so you start eating less i i find myself still eating food that i would be concerned you know say oh my god these are fattening but she's absolutely right instead of eating an entire bag of pretzels or two bags of pretzels i can have four pretzels and be satisfied afterwards well for me because of

02:18:06 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 4:

the way that i've been losing weight it took me and i didn't realize this months before i could train myself out of eating as much as I did because it was everything was a pattern yeah like wake up have breakfast do this do that this stresses you out grab something to snack on what like all breaking all of those patterns took me I'm not kidding you it I struggled for about six months before I didn't focus on it constantly well and I also feel like food isn't my life as much

02:18:35 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 2:

anymore like that was the one thing and I'm telling you I'm getting help I'm doing the shot Megan's not. But I will say this. I actually feel like food used to be, like Megan would say, my source of celebration and source of depression. Now it's one of those things where it's like, okay, I haven't eaten any protein today. I got to get something to eat. Now it's basically like putting gas in your gas tank. Nobody loves go to the gas station. You just do it because you have

02:19:01 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 4:

to, right? And nobody, everybody asked me like, what did you do? What did you do? And this sad, real answer is number one was therapy once you address that stuff and don't use food as your coping mechanism like it's a lot easier to find something else to focus on uh lastly cizza is

02:19:21 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 3:

joining kendrick lamar on the super bowl halftime stage kendrick apple music dropped a trailer yesterday of him walking out into this football field and then there she is cizza walks up behind him so they will be leading the halftime festivities i don't know if anybody else is to be joining them but from the caesar superdome in new orleans on february 9th are we rooting for

02:19:40 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 2:

anybody or caring about the football because this weekend i was looking at the games and even though there's still great teams i'm not caring as much unless i'm betting a parlay or something i'll tell you this i'm rooting for i don't give a damn to be honest with you since the lion's not in there but if saquon barkley win the ring i'm happy if jaden daniels can become the first rookie quarterback to perform in this way and get it done, I'm happy. I don't care about the AFC. Anybody but the Chiefs? I don't want to be a hater and say I'm rooting against them, but if they lost, I'd probably have a little smile.

02:20:13 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 1:

It wouldn't, yeah. Okay.

02:20:15 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey, for all of...

02:20:16 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 1:

I'm rooting for the bush. I'm going outside.

02:20:19 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 3:

For all of this week's Dirty, catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:20:25 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 1:

I hope that all the cheerleaders on the sidelines this weekend, Man, all in honor of our conversation, have Bushes this week. That would be crazy. Everybody's texting me right now, all my friends and stuff going, that was the greatest conversation they've ever heard on the show. We have done a word with me.

02:20:38 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 3:

This is why I read Vogue. It's a celebrity dirt directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:20:48 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. We were talking music here, and Kevin, you had something that happened yesterday when you were hanging out in the sales department with the legend.

02:20:57 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes, the legend that is Lee Robinson. Oh, he is a legend. Big shout out to Lee. Big legend in the building. Legend and I heart. Just legendary in life. So Lee and I, Lee is an older gentleman for those who don't know. He an OG. He wear the Kangol type hats. You know what I'm saying? I don't know what they call them, but you know which ones I'm talking about. They call them like pear hats. I want to say something like that. My bad, Lee.

02:21:18 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever been to that hat store that's right down the street?

02:21:21 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Henry the Hatter? Henry the Hatter in Eastern Market House. Yeah, big shout out to Henry the Hatter. I want to say pear hats. That's going to bug me. I'll figure that out later. But anyway, so Lee and I have a love for old school R&B. We're talking 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. So from time to time, we'll send each other songs or we'll just play them in the sales area. So yesterday, I'm in the OJs bag. Big shout out to the OJs. Most, I would say, know them from their Smile in Your Face all the time. I want to take your place, the backstabbers. So smile in your face. You heard that song? That's the OJs. So they got another song that I love called Stairway to Heaven. And it'd be like, Stairway to Heaven, step by step. Do you Google this? It's a beautiful record. So I come out of the studio and I'm playing that song on my phone. And I'm like, Lee, what are we talking about, Lee? What are we talking about, Lee? And then he catches on. He starts singing, oh, there's Stairway to Heaven. And I'm like, man, I love this song. It's such a good gospel song. Matter of fact, when I die, I want the pallbearers to walk me out of the church to this song. stairway to heaven and you're gonna take they step by step he like you know that's not a gospel song right oh let it just run this don't hit your soul you don't got one so lee's like you know it's not a gospel song he said you know it's not a gospel song right it's a sex song they talking about having sex that's what they're climbing the stairway to like an orgasm like no that's the heaven at that time. My mind was completely blown. I had no idea. I'm thinking this is a church song. This gives you church vibes. Stairway to heaven. Don't you want to go? Then I started laughing. Don't you want to go? I'm like, wow. Did you think like Lollipop was just about candy? That's so funny. No.

02:23:06 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 1:

You know what it is though? Megan, the songs like from this past, like these songs that Kev's talking about right here, like these songs here were not as blatant as like lollipop was like lollipop you knew right off the bat it was like he's licking

02:23:22 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 3:

a lollipop and don't you think that everybody in the olden days was just squeaky clean and so innocent like they're not writing and singing songs about sex no they were awful chelsea and

02:23:32 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

i talk about this all the time chelsea was the biggest george michael fan growing up my wife and she was like i never knew his songs were about sex i'm like this song was called i want your sex and she's like no she goes i know but it was i never thought of it was about sex right

02:23:47 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 2:

then we started to have a conversation where somebody else from sales chomped in was like you know reasons from earth winning fire is about a guy having sex with a girl and then not having a reason for her to stay around like the reasons that we're here yeah reasons like yes like leaving after the love games have been played you know that is wild no reason bro My mind is just blown on these songs, so I don't think I can be walked out of the church to this anymore.

02:24:16 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. You know what it is, Wild? They did a better job. They did a much better job back in the day, like when our parents were listening to music, of being sexual and naughty, but not having it be so blatant that it would, like, hit you in the face, you know?

02:24:29 - 02:24:29 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:24:30 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

The artists nowadays. Are there any songs that you did not realize were, you know, songs that were considered sex songs and you're like listening to them, cranking them with your kids in the car? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Because I will tell you that there are some times where you hear a song and you're like, I didn't realize doing it in the butt means that, you know? I mean, that's the song, doing it in the butt.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 2:

That's what it's called. Doing the butt. Yeah.

02:25:04 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 4:

Jackson. Wait, is that really a song? Yeah.

02:25:07 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 2:

I thought you guys were joking. No, that's a banger. You put that on at the cookout, everybody dancing. Exactly. E-U-D-B-U-T. That's the song. Who would have thought that they were talking about what I think they were talking about? Texter here right now goes, Kevin, I love you. You have the widest range of musical taste of anybody on your radio show. I appreciate that, man. What are you talking about? I think my musical taste, Stevie B. I like Stevie B.

02:25:40 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 3:

We don't talk about our musical taste a lot.

02:25:42 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

No. You have an eclectic one because you like, I mean, I never knew how much of a Phil Collins fan you were until you would randomly.

02:25:50 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if I'm a Phil Collins fan or if I was just raised in the Phil Collins world.

02:25:56 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 2:

But there are some songs, though, that I'll put on and I'm going, oh, Megan, man, she's young and she likes this song. I like that. Christy, what's up, Christy? How you doing? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. What's going on?

02:26:10 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. I'm just commenting about Puff the Magic Dragon. i didn't know it was about you know smoking until i watched uh meet the fuckers

02:26:26 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 3:

i don't know sometimes i think some of them then are like made up to

02:26:39 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

you know what i mean i think all the songs from back then were all about weed weren't they or some kind of LSD or something?

02:26:44 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, wasn't Ring Around the Rosie like a horrible, horrible song? It's about leprosy. Yeah, like there are a lot of kids' songs that are not. All of them are. Not even close to being appropriate. Every kid's song is rooted in either racism or like a horrible death tragedy. They're all horrible. Really? Yes. I thought Ring Around the Rosie was like about the, yeah, like the plague. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe is like super racist.

02:27:11 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah.

02:27:12 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Thomas brings up one.

02:27:17 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 2:

Let me grab Thomas real quick because you'll be shocked by this one. I never knew this. Thomas, are you there? Yes, sir. I'm here. What's going on, guys? Happy Friday. Happy Friday. What's going on, Thomas? The electric slide has been rumored to be a song about a vibrator.

02:27:35 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 3:

Come on. That's why I feel like you're making this up. To the Googles, bro. That's true.

02:27:39 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 4:

I swear. I swear to Lord.

02:27:41 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so funny. The song that we see our aunts dancing to at weddings is about a vibrator? I guess so.

02:27:52 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 1:

I feel like that's something a drunk dad says.

02:27:56 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 5:

Whoa.

02:28:02 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, it's shaking. Okay, so on Reddit, somebody said that the songwriter did explain at one point that it was a song about how his girlfriend had dumped him for a sex toy that she called the electric slide.

02:28:16 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Yo. Wow. No way.

02:28:20 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I believe that. Not on Reddit. The lyrics are there.

02:28:29 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow, the proof. Don't be saying that. Thank you for the call buddy I appreciate it The texter just texted in and said that They would sing really loud Watermelon Sugar In their car not realizing that Watermelon Sugar Was a dirty song

02:28:45 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 3:

It's my niece's favorite song It's so inappropriate

02:28:49 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 2:

Beyonce A lot of it's good Next time you listen to the songs on your little Alexa in your kitchen, and you start singing along with them, moms. Understand what you're singing along to. Although electric slide definitely threw me off the set. What's happening? Elena, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi. Hello? Hi, Elena.

02:29:20 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 4:

Elena, hi.

02:29:21 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Elena. What's up?

02:29:23 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So you guys ever hear Scream by Usher? Do you remember that song? Oh, yeah.

02:29:29 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I love that song.

02:29:31 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 4:

I never knew what that song was about. And then I actually listened to the lyrics and I was like, oh, okay.

02:29:39 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

So when you were younger and that song was a big song on this radio station, you're just singing along to it. Now as a grown woman, you know what's going on, don't you? Unfortunately. Yeah. How about the electric slide? Did you know what the electric slide was about? Honestly, that blew my mind. Ha, ha, ha, ha.

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 6:

It's crazy how that happens when you actually pay attention to it.

02:30:04 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this was a good song by Usher.

02:30:07 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 5:

See, I never, ever pay attention to lyrics.

02:30:11 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hold on here, turn it up. Let me hear it. Yeah, I guess. You know what's going on.

02:30:30 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 5:

Relax and get on your back.

02:30:32 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there you go.

02:30:33 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 5:

How do you not know that this is a dirty song? Yeah. Okay. This one's pretty obvious to me.

02:30:37 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 4:

But I guess when you're a teenager, though, you don't think that, right? No, that's all you think. It came out. Really? God, people are talking about even, like, some of the old songs that Cyndi Lauper did back in the day. Amanda, are you there, Amanda? Hey, Amanda.

02:30:57 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

02:30:58 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Hey, the song Girls Just Want to Have Fun is not about girls wanting to have a lesbian fun time, right?

02:31:04 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 5:

No, it's Shebop by Cyndi Lauper. I've never heard of that.

02:31:08 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 4:

What is that song about?

02:31:10 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 5:

Shebop?

02:31:11 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What is the song about?

02:31:13 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 5:

It's about masturbation.

02:31:16 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 4:

It is?

02:31:17 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 5:

It is.

02:31:18 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't remember that song either.

02:31:21 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 5:

It's like 1980-something, her original song. Yeah.

02:31:25 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 4:

Let's listen to a masturbation song. Yes! Oh, look at that. All right. Let's all masturbate together. Let's listen to that song.

02:32:03 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 5:

One pop-up video for that tidbit. Oh, really? Did they say it on that video?

02:32:07 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 4:

That was a great show.

02:32:08 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 5:

And first time, if I can say that. Hey, vibrator on the phone.

02:32:15 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not vibrator.

02:32:18 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 5:

Can I please? I am waiting right now for my daughter to get out of school, and we listen to you guys every morning. Can I shout out Sophia?

02:32:27 - 02:32:27 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:32:27 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 4:

Not after you. You're talking about what you're talking about. Perfect timing. Don't play her this audio. I know.

02:32:33 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 5:

I'm so screwed up, but come on. Take what you can get, right?

02:32:37 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you for the call.

02:32:38 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 5:

She's getting out of school at 10 a.m.?

02:32:40 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 4:

It's an early release day, I guess, huh?

02:32:43 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 5:

That's insane.

02:32:44 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? Last call here from Danielle. What's up, Danielle? Oh, no. You've got kids in the car. You can't call us up with it. Let her go. What song, Danielle?

02:32:58 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 6:

So I grew up with older sisters in the 90s, and Peaches and Cream, you know, when you're in middle school, you're not thinking about what that song's about. Hey.

02:33:10 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 4:

How old is the kid that's in your car right now?

02:33:13 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 6:

The radio's down. The radio's down. Okay. All right. But yep, realizing what that's about growing up.

02:33:22 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 4:

If they saw the video, you could tell from the video. It is such a good song.

02:33:29 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 6:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first day I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits, so I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be, and I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department, and I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.
