This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:01:23 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 1:

My name is Natarika, Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, But some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm their resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us.

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it's war of the roses day today We've got one coming up after Shannon's 730 Dirty. And this is a wild one. Imagine an ex coming back into the picture after you guys get engaged over the holidays. And imagine that the ex comes back into the picture so much so that his cause for issues because he has a tattoo with the ex's name on it, on his body. But The weird part is Says that that tattoo is not his ex's name Says it's his mom

00:04:25 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Because they share the same name Oh

00:04:28 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 6:

I always, I find it, well, but would you put Your mom on there Would you write mom Or would you put If my boys got a tattoo Joe, Jacob, or Luke got a tattoo For their mom, which actually Joe does He put his mom's birth date On there He didn't like put Chelsea Like if he put Chelsea Wouldn't it be weird to put like the name The actual name of the person

00:04:52 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so I know somebody who has a tattoo for their mom with her name

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Really? Well this morning We make a phone call

00:05:00 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

call for war of the roses that is happening at 7 40 ish. So make sure that you're listening and, uh, you listen and judge for yourself. And I, and I think Megan, when you hear it, you may think differently after just that. So I'm curious, you got to listen. So, uh, actually you already know cause you already were part of it. So I'm playing along. I know. Thank you. I love it. Came back in town yesterday. I saw my flight got delayed and then I came back in town last night uh i actually had a wild situation happen to me um or not situation i had a i fell asleep on the plane i can fall asleep anywhere i don't understand how you can stay up

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

on a plane i'm asleep before we we even do take off wheels every time wheels are still on the

00:05:45 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

ground same with me shannon and i am snoring and uh spitting and slobbering and doing all kinds of

00:05:52 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 1:

My family said I am the worst, and friends, I'm the worst person to travel with because I am no fun.

00:05:58 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you definitely don't. I don't even get snacks at the snack place. Nothing. Like, I don't even, you know, carry anything on. I go to the bathroom before I go on there. I go to the bathroom when I go off there after I sleep.

00:06:09 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

Do you tell someone, wake me up when they start bringing the snacks, though?

00:06:13 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

No, I've never done that. I've never, well, I've never done that. I just ask them to grab something for me. and actually I have had times where I haven't fallen asleep and the guy next to me is sleeping and I'll say, Hey, can I grab something for him? And I'll grab it and I'll eat it myself thinking it's the makeup for the lost time that I lost when I was sleeping on it.

00:06:35 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

There's nothing worse than missing the snacks though.

00:06:38 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah. Well, and we talked yesterday, the snacks are not great on an airplane, but the idea that you get some something to eat, I will say this, Vegas flights back home from Vegas. I don't think I have ever stayed up on a Vegas flight back home from Vegas.

00:06:52 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 1:

They're so quiet.

00:06:53 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

They are quiet. I catch up on my lost sleep from, you know, but I had a weird thing happen to me. And I called Shannon last night to tell her this because I, to me, it really touched me. And Shannon and I shared an agent by the name of Norm. We've talked about him numerous times on the show. Norm passed away back in 2020. Um, and when, when Norm died, Norm was in his nineties. Like he was, I think he was, I don't know how old he was. Norm would be pissed that I don't know his age. He would want me to know the exact date that he died.

00:07:28 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Was he 90? I don't want to make him seem, anyway, he was around 90. Yeah, I think you're right.

00:07:33 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

He, and he died, I know, I think he died in August. I'm almost positive because he died very similar to the time that my mom had passed.

00:07:39 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:07:39 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, Norm was a huge influence on mine, Shannon's life, uh, and a lot of people's lives that he represented. The guy was amazing. He was a father figure to all of us. He could, in one word, get you to stand in line. And that was, he would go, Mojo. Or he called her Murph.

00:08:01 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 1:

I knew I was in so much trouble.

00:08:03 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

And he would just say, and you knew at that moment you did something wrong. You said you agreed to do something with the company that you shouldn't have agreed to do, right? Yeah. Because he was your negotiator. He was your guy. So I fell asleep on the plane and I had a dream that Norm came to me and talked to me in his dream. It was actually, actually, I was at Norm's house in Atlanta, his hometown. I was at a bar that we used to hang out at all the time, sitting at the bar. Norm loved to belly up to the bar. And he was telling me that I needed to tell Shannon that she's got to, he basically kept saying, you got to tell her to be tougher. And he kind of sounded like the guy from Rocky. Mick, come on, Mick. He would be like, you got to tell her that she's got to be tougher. And she's got to just, you know, don't care what other people think. And blah, blah, blah, blah. He was basically telling me that I had to tell Shannon this, which is something that he would do.

00:09:04 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

I was going to ask, did you have those conversations with him?

00:09:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 1:

And the crazy thing is, and I told Mojo this last night, he he was always kind of my like recalibrate like if i felt like i needed that he he like it was like an intuition thing that he would call me and and set me straight and i um there are a couple of things happening in my life like work-wise and just life-wise that man i could have used that phone call from him and also i just read and if you have not read this book yet please listen to it or read it it's called the let them theory by mel robbins but that's what it's about it is about like not not letting other people's opinion of you shake you basically um and which is something that i've struggled with my entire life and so i had that like i had just finished reading that and i was like oh this is like it's like she's my new norm yeah but to hear I believe when somebody comes to you in a dream with a message like that, and I'm so happy you called me, I don't really believe that that's not just a dream. Not at all.

00:10:10 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the coinkydink part, or the part that's so wild. I wake up from sleeping on the airplane, and the lady next to me goes, you were kind of mumbling during the thing, which is wild. I'm thinking, oh, my God, what the hell was I doing? Yeah, what was I doing? Was I saying something I shouldn't have said? Because Norm and I would have very in-depth conversations, And when we would do it, I would swear back at him and he would swear at me like we would like that. We had that kind of relationship, like a really good relationship like that. I got a text message from Johnny Dare from Kansas City. He's a number one morning guy in Kansas City. He's also like my brother actually is my brother, not like my brother. And Norm and I were were sons to him. Norm used to tell us all the time you were the sons I never had. And it was a text message from Johnny saying, this past weekend is the weekend that we would always go to Vegas with Norm, because we did. Every year we went to Vegas for the NFC-AFC championship weekend. And he said, all I thought about all weekend was you. And he, it was, how weird is that? Yeah. So it was just such a weird situation to be able to have this dream and have Norm talk to me in his dream, him passing messages along, which was awesome. He actually was, he said he was so proud of the show because the show's, you know, reached some great heights. And he said, and it's funny too, because there are times he used to call me and not be proud of the show. There was a person that used to work on the show a while back, and I won't say their name because I just don't want it to become, he hated this person. and he would always go, I listen to the show, and she sounds horrible. And I would be like, why are you doing – and he would get so crazy. What are you thinking? That was how Norm would be all the time. But he would tell me things about the show, but he said, I love – he goes, I love the show. I love how everything's sounding. I love how happy you are. I love that you're, you know, number one. I love everything. I see dead people. You did not just do that. I love it. And so Norm, I love you. And I want you to know this, that we're making you proud here. And I passed your words along to Shannon. She's got to remember that. Maybe it's, you know, we have to type those words up on there.

00:12:29 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 1:

I wish I had the opportunity to meet, learn, and connect with Norm. Because the way you two speak about him, he's one of those guys. You would have loved him. He would have loved you. Yes. Oh, my God, yeah. I miss him so much.

00:12:44 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 2:

He would have, by the way, he would also call you up and go, Kev.

00:12:49 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 1:

You son of a bitch. He did not mince words.

00:12:54 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 2:

He used to call me, and he did it with the most loving of language, but he would always call me up, and he would say, you are a fat f**k. He would put the words together. he'd be like hey you fat

00:13:12 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 1:

Shannon you got your marching orders I know

00:13:16 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if any listeners have ever had this happen to them where like a loved one came to them in you know their their sleep or or maybe came to them through like Chelsea in our friend Leah and I were out at a restaurant and Chelsea always says that her grandfather never comes to her and we're having a really good conversation about our lives and all of a sudden what a wonderful world which was her song with her grandfather

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 1:

literally starts playing

00:13:50 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 2:

so it's amazing when stuff like that happens and I said to her that's going on it could be something it could be something coming to you maybe it's me on the radio calling me a fat I don't know I had no idea

00:14:04 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 1:

Dad?

00:14:07 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

It's you Yeah, so one of the funniest things ever with Norm was Norm purposely would say people's names wrong, and he would purposely do it, especially if there were somebody that was in, like, a powerful position. So if they were, and he would do it in a way of not trying to be a dick, but trying to be a dick. and our boss, Nick Gnaw.

00:14:33 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:14:35 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 2:

He would call him Nick Gnaw because Nick's name was spelled G-N-A-U. How was it spelled? A-W is it?

00:14:43 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 1:

G-N-A-U.

00:14:45 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So he would go, Nick Gnaw. I would go, Norm, don't ever do that. That's our boss. Be respectful.

00:14:54 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 1:

How tall was Norm? He was tall. He was real tall. Really?

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

6'2", 6'3", yeah. Big guy.

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

He's giving short.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 7:

No, he looked like Benjamin Franklin.

00:15:02 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 6:

That's what I was looking for in the photo you just said.

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 7:

Here, I got one right here.

00:15:05 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 6:

He looked like Benjamin Franklin. No, he did.

00:15:08 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, here, let me show you a picture real quick of Norm. And Deanna, hold on.

00:15:14 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 6:

Wait, here, I'm going to show, look at this one. Like hair and all? Wow.

00:15:19 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Norm was amazing. What's going on, Deanna? How you doing? Good, how are you? Hey, what's going on? Nothing much. We're just kind of shooting the spit, so to speak. What's going on?

00:15:32 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 4:

Just Norman.

00:15:33 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I just texted in because the dream you had was, you know, Norman, the dream. And I texted just to say that it wasn't a dream. It was definitely a sign.

00:15:41 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. It felt so much like that.

00:15:44 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 1:

Too many coincidences. Yeah, for sure.

00:15:46 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. It was really, it was special. It was special to have that. And it was wild, isn't it, that it happened this weekend? There's no such thing as coincidences, bro. Yeah. Especially all those things. Yeah, it's all planned. Katrina, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:16:02 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 2:

Hi, it's actually Katerina.

00:16:05 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, Katerina, I'm sorry. Hi.

00:16:07 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. Yeah, so I had a friend that passed away in eighth grade. His name was Jordan. And we were in band together. And when we were, you know, we had these, all of us in our friend group, we were like, oh, and we're in high school. We're all going to be in marching band together. and the high school i went to band marching band was like a really big thing we had over 200 people in the band so that next year freshman year after jordan passed i had this dream that i was in the auditorium before our marching band football game and all of a sudden out of the crowd of all these people in the uniforms jordan came up to me and he was in a marching band uniform and And he was like, I'm always, like, here with you guys. Wow. And it was amazing. And then, actually, our senior year, I had another dream about him. So, my fans, we were lucky enough to play in the Outback Bowl. And before we did that, they got, like, this group picture of all of us standing up. And I had a dream that night that we were in the group picture. And I could see someone leaning over, like, trying to wave and get my attention. And when I looked over, it was Jordan waving.

00:17:18 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:17:18 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 7:

Man, that's amazing. Well, he's with you. He's there, and he's probably hopefully listening to this radio show right now. So shout out to Jordan for coming to you. Joshua, you actually had a dream last night about somebody that passed?

00:17:34 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, it was last weekend. Good morning. Long story short is I was at a show and met a lady about spreading suicide awareness, and I lost my brother to suicide 14 years ago. That night, he came to me in my dream and said something has to be done. In a week, I have raised $30,000 worth of cheap parts. Wow. And donations for her cause.

00:17:59 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

00:18:00 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 6:

That is incredible. There's tears. Buddy. And people are amazing.

00:18:06 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 7:

Buddy, that's amazing.

00:18:07 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 6:

And he came to me and said, you need to spread her word.

00:18:10 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Is there a place we could go to that could help out, or is there somewhere you can shout out?

00:18:15 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 6:

We're starting an Instagram now. I can give you the information of my company and we can. Okay.

Like I'm trying to not cry right now, but, um, when I woke up, I don't know if you guys have ever had those dreams where you wake up and you're crying. I woke up and I was hysterically crying. I came upstairs and my mom, it was early. It was probably like six in the morning, but my mom was up sitting at the kitchen table and she's like, what is wrong? And I said, I just had the most vivid dream of grandma. And she told me in the dream that when I woke up, she was going to be gone. and I did not want to wake up at all.

00:23:13 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:23:14 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 3:

And I was just hysterically crying because it was so real.

00:23:17 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. By the way, you know, she's there. She's right there with you, and she was. Absolutely. Yeah. What a cool situation to have happen. This is a pretty wild one because everybody's getting their loved ones who have already passed. Kylie, your dad came to you in your dream, but he wasn't passed away yet?

00:23:39 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

No. So we went, I visited him in the hospital the day before and he was supposed to get like a port in his lung. He had pneumonia and cancer and all that stuff. And so I was like, okay, I'll see you on Monday for your surgery. So Saturday I went down to Great Wolf Lodge with my family. So it was like two hours away and I woke up like at a beating sweat because my dad came to me and my dream said, it's going to be okay. Just take care of your sisters for me. and i woke up at like 5 a.m i got a call at 6 a.m saying your dad's not doing good you need to get here now wow and we we rushed back said like said our goodbyes and like it just freaked me out and then a week later i had another dream with him and he's like just take care of your sisters that's

00:24:27 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 1:

all i asked man are you taking care of your sisters otherwise dad's gonna come back and haunt

00:24:35 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 2:

you yeah I've got two sisters so I take care of both of them what would you do if your dad came

00:24:42 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 1:

to you and said I hid all the money in my sock drawer would you tell your sisters

00:24:47 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

probably the younger one not the older she's a spender I'm the oldest but the middle child is definitely a middle child

00:25:01 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. We're going to give you a shot at some concert tickets. I'm going to get to the dirty. I'm a little late with that, but I'll get to it. Kendrick Lamar and SZA are going to be performing at the halftime Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. We got a chance for you to see them in June at Ford Field. All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending. Shannon with the Dirty on the 30.

00:25:36 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 4:

All right, we are going to start off with Selena Gomez. Shared an Instagram story crying over all of the deportations that have been happening since President Trump's inauguration. Here's part of that.

00:25:51 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 3:

Only people are getting attacked. The children.

00:25:58 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 4:

clearly very touched very emotional she eventually took down the post but added another note saying apparently it's not okay to show empathy for people so i don't know if she clearly was told to take it down i'm not quite sure by whom um but in response to that video border czar tom Homan reacting during an interview with Fox News saying he has no apologies for what's happening

00:26:32 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 3:

and he is going to keep moving forward. She posted a video sobbing. She was crying in it. She said all my people are getting attacked. What do you say to those who are out there saying that that these are everyday people? These are families that are being attacked and dragged out of their homes. How

00:26:49 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

do you respond to that? I don't think we arrested any families. We've arrested public public state threats and national security threats bottom line once we lock that board on continuous operation you're going to see fentanyl death decrease illegal alien crime decrease sex trafficking decrease it's just all for the good of this nation and we're going to keep going no apologies we're

00:27:06 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 3:

moving forward speaking of oh go ahead have they said what they're going to do with the dreamers

00:27:11 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 1:

i don't uh no i don't know i think that they are going after the big thing that they say they're going after right away are some of the people that they say were wanted here for criminal acts even criminal acts that they committed right after they came into the country and um the people that i'm seeing being you know locked up uh by the by the ice people which is usually it's a surprise because usually ice doesn't do this and i know that they're obviously doing it for the sake of of showing you know people because this is kind of i think what he ran on was that he was going to do this but um it seems like a lot of men that are being being arrested but i don't know i i've heard different people say that in detroit there's been arrests but then i heard the mayor come out and say that there hasn't been any arrest i haven't heard an update on that but

00:28:01 - 00:29:55 | Speaker 4:

then i keep seeing video and then people are showing some videos yeah uh speaking of president trump he discussed a possible deal for microsoft to buy tiktok while speaking with reporters by phone from air force one last night he answered yes when asked whether microsoft was actively in discussions to acquire tiktok he was asked about other companies who were looking to buy the app he declined to respond or be specific but he did say they are all top of the line rihanna i'm told is considering appearing in the la court during the criminal trial of asap rocky to show support for him again he's pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm in connection with the accusations that he shot asap rally back in 2021 and if you remember me doing this story, maybe the week before last, Rihanna was mentioned a whole bunch of times as lawyers were conducting jury selection and they were asking potential jurors if they were fans of Rihanna or if they had ever bought any of the items from her Fenty fashion brand or her makeup brand. Now, sources tell me it's unlikely she's going to be there today, but she could come at some point this week or next. And her appearance, they say, could definitely have an influence on the jury so it would be a really big deal if she was there why couldn't i get on that jury i mean i would die and lastly we saw some billboards mysteriously appearing yesterday and the day before for lady gaga's seventh studio album it's called mayhem it is set for release on march 7th if you're a gaga fan she said the album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music world that my earliest fans loved so a return to the old gaga is what this one's going to sound like for all of today's dirty catch from the podcast on the totally free iheart radio app emoji in the morning.com

00:30:58 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 3:

00:34:00 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 3:

That is Meghan Trainor.

00:34:39 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I thought you just came out with some song and just randomly did it. Okay, Meghan Trainor. Question number two. Lions wide receiver Jamison Williams was fined more than $25,000 for his touchdown celebration during the divisional playoff game against the Commanders. What's his nickname?

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 1:

I have no idea.

00:35:10 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 2:

J-Mo.

00:35:10 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 1:

Which, Isabella, you've said. I know. One-to-one. It stays one-to-one. He plays first.

00:35:16 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And by the way, that touchdown celebration, he was like banging the end zone. He was having sex with the end zone. Crazy, crazy. All right. You're going to have to get at least two of these next three questions right, or are all three of them right in order to stay our champion? Question number three. Rumor has it that Kevin Costner and J-Lo are quietly dating. What was the name of the iconic movie that Kevin starred in opposite the late Whitney Houston? What are you saying?

Oh, God.

00:35:49 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Two.

00:35:53 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 1:

00:35:56 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 2:

The Bodyguard. Come on.

00:35:57 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 1:

Classic. Both of you guys missed that one.

All right, you have to get these next two questions right. You have to. If you do not, Isabella, you're back with us tomorrow. Question number four. This year's Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans. In what U.S. city did last year's Super Bowl take place? 30 seconds.

00:37:49 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:37:50 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 2:

Live. So I joined the morning show. Imagine this. Megan making a scene at a funeral.

00:38:04 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 1:

Ah, makes sense.

00:38:06 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 2:

It kind of does. But the scene was done, as long as the scene is done with the person who lost their loved one. Like, you know what I mean? Like, you can't be the person that's making the scene with somebody that doesn't know the family. You know what I mean?

00:38:18 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 1:

And it was positive to me and the widow, but not anybody else who was in the room mourning the dead guy.

00:38:26 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you know, so wait, so so the the the the dead man's wife, the widow was the person that you were doing. And who is who are these people?

00:38:37 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 1:

Just a family friend of mine had a death in the family. And so I actually didn't know the man who died very well or his widow. And I actually was meeting her for the first time at the funeral. Oh, what a place. I know. I know. And she was an icon. She was a legend. She's who I want to be when I grow up. I hit it off with this woman who is the widow. Like, we are going to be best friends. We are going to be, like, what is it called? Like, fast thieves or whatever together. Like, we're going to commit crimes, and I'm going to be our getaway driver. Yes, like, she is my favorite person, I think, on this planet. She's so funny. So funny, in fact, that I was dying laughing. Now, she's the widow, so she's front row at this funeral. and I'm cackling like a mad woman at how inappropriate she's being at her husband's funeral with me while meeting for the first time. And everybody else is very morose, very quiet. It's very subdued. And her and I are just laughing it up in front of everybody, in front of all the photos, in front of the urn, in front of everything. And we look, well I look so disrespectful it's not even funny so to all the people who knew me they're like well that's exactly how Megan would behave at a funeral and to everybody who didn't know me they were like what is she doing

00:40:00 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 2:

making a mockery of this holy institution was, was the, the widow, um, was, was she like, just that was her, her emotions coming out through laughter or how was it?

00:40:13 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you, this woman had tears streaming down her face uncontrollably while saying the most horrific things, trying to get me to laugh and make me feel comfortable. She was perfection and i was obsessed with her and she knows my dad very well and was like i really hope you put him in his place and like i hope you you make sure that you know he doesn't feel like he'll ever have a funeral quite like this where people care you know like she was just cracking me up the entire time and i was like i i need to spend more time with you i'll bring the bottle of wine tell me more things you hate about my dad please i love this i always love uh you know my mom's

00:40:52 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 2:

funeral was kind of like that too like everybody like we had the the case of the misfits because my mom used to always have like like she would take everybody in yeah you know we had christmas dinner and we'd be like who's that person at the end of our table mom just met her at jewel that was the food the grocery store in chicago but the long long story short we my mom had an irish uh uh funeral irish wake because there was alcohol served oh yeah at the wake so that's how people laughing and having fun and people walk i remember the funeral director uh mr she he goes be honest with you i've never seen anything like this before but that's how i want mine to be

00:41:30 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 3:

that's how it that's how it should be yeah like i feel if i saw that and i didn't know who you were i'd be like i wish that i had that effect on this poor woman who lost her husband right you know like you're making her making her laugh yeah in a time which everybody else i feel like is like

00:41:49 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 4:

walking on eggshells which by the way I felt proud of that like I felt proud that in five minutes I could make her laugh and we were having a great time and holding hands and whatever but everybody around us was like time and place time well I love that time and place you just

00:42:03 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

met your new best friend at a funeral that's that's kind of interesting has anybody ever had that happen to them where they they literally had a meeting like this where they met somebody at a funeral uh which is kind of wild but in itself but the weird thing is have you ever gone to a funeral for somebody you don't even know like did you know this person alive um have you ever met

00:42:23 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 4:

not not well not well at all but I don't think you go to funerals necessarily for the person that died so I right you're going I went for like right people I knew very well who are affected by this

00:42:34 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 2:

death I think there are two things two places that I do not want to go unless I actually have had a personal relationship with the person one is a funeral that just seems wild to go to a funeral you know and you don't really know the person and i've done it you know pay respects because you had relations with them business-wise or something like that the other is a wedding i hate going to a wedding and i've never met the couple and i'm there at the wedding going and i've had this before like friends of chelsea's from like growing up and stuff and i'm at you know you go to the the wedding and you're like i have no idea who these people are yeah like i'm sitting and matter of fact if it wasn't that they were in that nice white dress and he was in a nice tuxedo like i I couldn't pick him between the groomsmen. Wait, why would you go to the wedding? Because it was a school who had friends of Chels.

00:43:22 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I got you.

00:43:23 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and she lived in another city. We never really hung out.

00:43:26 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

At least Chels knew. I thought you just meant like it was truly wrong.

00:43:29 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 2:

When her friend Jenny got married to Brian, I never knew Brian. I had no idea who Brian was. I couldn't pick Brian out of a freaking crowd.

00:43:38 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 3:

I just got asked to be an officiant. I cannot say that word. Is that right? I got asked to be an officiant for a wedding where I know the bride, but I've never met the groom.

00:43:47 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 4:

That's wild.

00:43:48 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I have to get to know him and them before their wedding.

00:43:53 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 4:

Do you, though, or can you just show up and read what they tell you to online?

00:43:56 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:43:57 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 4:

Why not? Because I don't want to.

00:43:59 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 2:

I've officiated plenty of weddings where I didn't know either of them. I got a producer on the show going, hey, you're going to marry so-and-so. Christ. Yeah, you're there. I like having to read their names on a piece of paper like 20 times to make sure I didn't say it wrong.

00:44:12 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 1:

I remember my mom told me to come to somebody's funeral. He was a part of our family, somebody's cousin's cousin's cousin's. Never knew this dude's name. I had to go to the window and show him a picture like, do you know where this guy's at? And the lady leaning up to the window trying to see, like, oh, he in that room. Oh, my God.

00:44:28 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 2:

One of my favorite stories I think I ever told on the air was my buddy Keith Janky's mom died, and I went to the wrong funeral home. I remember that.

00:44:36 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 3:

not just the wrong room the total wrong funeral home and I went to the wrong funeral home for

00:44:41 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 2:

the wake and I walk in I'm like I don't know anybody here like I had no clue yeah and then I had to kind of like figure out because because Keith's you know uh mom's name like that wasn't on the board or whatever you know do you sit in the back no I this is the wake so you walk up and greet the family wait so I'm looking Thank you.

00:45:00 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 5:

the family like i have no idea who you are what's up robin hi hi how are you good what's going on

00:45:06 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 1:

oh nothing i was just calling to tell you at my mom's funeral we didn't realize that no food was allowed and we started ended up everyone brings food to the funeral and we started tailgating in the parking lot and the police were called and then they started tailgating with us so wait who

00:45:25 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 5:

Who called the police? The funeral home?

00:45:28 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

No, they were part of it. They were eating the tailgating, too. Everyone was eating. There was so much food.

00:45:34 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 5:

That is wild that they called the police on that whole thing. It's like, why are these people doing it?

00:45:39 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 4:

You ever tailgate somewhere inappropriately?

00:45:41 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, we tailgated at Shannie's Granny's funeral. I sure did.

00:45:44 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 4:

And honestly, that's exactly what she would have wanted. Yeah.

00:45:47 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

I tailgated at a hospital.

00:45:49 - 00:45:49 | Unknown:

Really?

00:45:49 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, while my grandfather was dying. Oh, man. Yeah, we were out in the parking lot getting smashed.

00:45:54 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It was so bad. Cannot believe we didn't get kicked off the premises.

00:46:00 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I have another question I want to throw out there. Chelsea and I were having a conversation about, like, what do we do past radio life? Like, what would be my career? Stuff like that. Chelsea came up with an idea. Somebody needs to tell me if this is the case. She said, let's buy a funeral home. She said, let's become funeral home owners. And I said, well, don't you have to be a funeral director? And she goes, we can hire a funeral director. Does anybody know if you can buy funeral homes? And are they lucrative? They are very lucrative. People are dying all the time, right? Yes.

00:46:30 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 2:

And I looked into it not too long ago. And the thing that held me back was I needed to go back for another four-year degree. Really? If it was a shorter program, I probably would have done it.

00:46:38 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 5:

Even if you were just a financial investor?

00:46:39 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, I don't have that kind of money behind me. So I was looking to do like the actual funeral director. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why would you want to do that?

00:46:49 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 5:

She just said, she goes, it seems like it's a dying business. No, it's a great business. No, she just said, she goes, there's always funerals all the time. It's a new client every day. But do it kind of nice. Like, do it special. Like, instead of, like, make it more. She says that when we go home.

00:47:04 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 4:

Dude, when I lived in Atlanta, funerals were, they had planners. Like weddings. Like wedding planners. But they were celebration planners.

00:47:13 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 5:

I'll be honest with you. I think the funeral homes here all have bad furniture.

00:47:17 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 4:

They do.

00:47:17 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 5:

It's 1988. The walls feel like they were cheap. You know what I mean? Like, make the house a home home. Like, make it something that's nice, like, that you would invite family into, and make it something that's a little bit celebratory of the person's life and not mourning death. And there's a funeral home that I've had numerous funerals that I've had to go to, obviously named after a person's family and stuff like that, and I don't want to say it, but it could be the most mundane thing. I told Chelsea, I said, if I die, I want you to have mine at the frickin' Palazzo Grande on the east side of town. Isn't that what it's called, Lydia, by your house? What is it called?

00:47:54 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 6:

Palazzo Grande.

00:47:55 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I wanted to have it there.

00:47:56 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that's the actual name? It's not a funeral home. It's like where weddings happen.

00:48:01 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 6:

And all dads actually go to venues like that and they mourn. So we do like mourning parties. Mourning?

00:48:08 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? I want Hennessy, a flowing.

00:48:10 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 6:

You just don't see the body.

00:48:11 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 5:

I want angels and me being drunk. I want people having fun.

00:48:16 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 4:

I maintain, how weird is it that we make dead bodies look good and then just stare at them? It is the weirdest thing. Please do not do that to me.

00:48:27 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 5:

I want mine not in a casket. I want mine standing up. It's the weirdest thing. My dead body is going to be standing up like a mannequin at Macy's. And it's going to be in the corner and people are going to go, God damn, he looks good. Seriously.

00:48:43 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

We'll position you behind a board like this with a microphone.

00:48:46 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 5:

And I want the photo booth people that come to parties taking pictures with people and people getting, like, hats and boas and all that stuff and putting them on them like they do.

00:48:57 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 2:

A step and repeat behind you. That 360 camera so we get a full 360 of your dead body.

00:49:02 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 5:

I want, like, full on, we're having fun at this party at the Palazzo Grande and, you know, people bringing food. Have you had these conversations, though?

00:49:12 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 2:

Because, like, I've had conversations with the people that do my hair and makeup being like, this is what I want to look like. And my brother knows what outfit I want to wear. Like, have you had those conversations? All the, I have them with my kids.

00:49:24 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 4:

I have them with Wes. All the time. So do I. Confetti cannons. Confetti cannons. And Lucy, Lucy knows this. She was at lacrosse practice on Sunday, and she must have been telling some of her friends about it. And she screams across the court, Mom, tell everybody what song you want played at your funeral. Defying gravity, guys. There you go. Defying gravity, confetti cannons.

00:49:43 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 5:

Everybody, please be drunk. Myra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

00:49:49 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi. When we buried our father, he didn't want a funeral. He just wanted a whole concert. He was into the performing arts. I love it. So we had people come and dance.

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I love it.

00:50:05 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 3:

I think that's fantastic. I want the people from that, what was the thing that you worked for? Fantasy?

00:50:11 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 4:

Fairytale. Fairytale Adventures.

00:50:13 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 3:

I want Fairytale Adventures to bring Spider-Man. Oh, my God.

00:50:16 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 4:

Can I dress up like Wonder Woman?

00:50:18 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 3:

You can be Wonder Woman. You want the Jabberwock? I want the Little Mermaid there. Do you see what the Little Mermaid looks like there?

00:50:25 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:50:27 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Twyla. Is that your name?

00:50:28 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 4:

Twyla.

00:50:29 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 3:

Twyla. Twyla. Hi, Twyla. Twyla-la. What's up? Hi.

00:50:35 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 2:

I was calling about the laughing story. So I went to my friend's mom's funeral. I had never met her mother, but I went to support her. And she's standing at the casket crying just by herself. So I'm like, nobody's supporting her. I'll go, which left me sitting next to her. Well, partway through the funeral, she didn't realize it was me. She identified me by the tattoo on my leg, and she gasped really loud. and we locked eyes, and we start cracking up laughing. But it's someone's reading the obituary, and the girl reading the obituary mispronounced the name, and we lost it. So we are dying laughing in the middle of her mom's funeral, and her siblings are, like, elbowing me, like, but we could not stop laughing. That's awesome. It was insane.

00:51:20 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 3:

That is incredible. I love it. You know what? That's the kind of funeral. Will you come to mine? I want you to be there, okay?

00:51:27 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 2:

I will. And then real quick, my grandmother just passed away in September. She planned her funeral. We didn't have to do much. She showed us what she had in the folder, what pictures she wanted, like who she wanted to sing, what happened. And we did that. The pictures part to me is sad.

00:51:43 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 4:

Like she was like, I don't trust you to pick up pictures that make me look good.

00:51:47 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the thing. People always pick out these pictures. Thank you for the call.

00:51:51 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 4:

Why do I also picture you, Mojo, not in a casket, but like in a queen size bed and you were inviting people to lay down and take pictures with you that would be fantastic now i just changed what what's uh what's rosie calling for what's why is rosie on hold it says rosie mojo on the morning show no she was saying mojo in the morning oh oh oh rosie You're good, man. Oh, my gosh. Rosie. It's the pun of the day.

00:52:23 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 3:

You're the best, Rosie. We love you. We love you.

00:52:25 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 4:

That is great. Mojo in the morning show.

00:52:28 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 3:

There you go. It's perfect.

00:52:30 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 4:

Want to get the hell out of Dodge? See ya. We got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the morning. Listen to 730 to get in on Mojo in the morning.

00:52:40 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. I just read this stat. I thought it was crazy. It says that more people go to therapy because they don't get callbacks from people they've gone on dates with. So literally, people are going to therapy over being ghosted because they feel something's wrong with them because they're not getting the callback. And I found that to be so wild because I know we do second date update on the show, try to figure out why you're getting ghosted. But getting ghosted can be very traumatic for a person. it makes you start thinking what's wrong with me right yeah isn't that crazy i have a few

00:53:16 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 1:

girlfriends who are um single and dating right now and the the ghosting stories just blow my mind first off some of my girlfriends uh some more like family friends that are older like in their 50s 60s dating and the fact that like 50 and 60 plus year old men will ghost it's insane not have the emotional maturity and communication skills to just say I'm not interested anymore freaking blows me away but I love this story I have one of my friends went on a date with a guy and she said it was actually a really great date like if you thought it was he didn't call her the next day or the next day and she was like okay fine whatever so she like sent him a quick text asking if he wanted to go out again never said anything finally the next day so it's been four days since the their first date the date that they went out on and he responded that he was sorry he had been mia he had a stye oh my god do you know what a stye is yeah i'm okay with this you know what he had a stye and she was like okay i could understand maybe that he doesn't want to see me face to face but to not actually even to use the stye as an excuse that you couldn't text

00:54:30 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

is wild that's wild all right we got to have listeners call in and tell us the stupidest reason why they didn't call you back after you went on a date i mean these obviously we can go through old war of the roses and probably name a bunch of these but i want to hear your story 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 and those that are dating that are in their 40s 50s or even if you're 60s I don't know if you're listening to the show but if the fact that they got

00:55:00 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 8:

Are 50-year-old men that are ghosting women? That's insane. That's crazy that these guys can't even pick up. Although it's insane that a 20-year-old does it. You know what I mean? Talk about how immature that is.

00:55:15 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 4:

I think people just don't care these days. Well, the problem is. You really don't care.

00:55:19 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 8:

The problem is if you can quickly get a date, as quick as you can get a date, you can quickly just move on to the next one. And back in the day before Tinder and Hinge and Bumble and stuff, you know, you had to actually go out and physically meet people, right?

00:55:35 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 1:

I think this is why I get so mad at people who don't want to talk on dating apps and just go, oh, we psyched on each other. Let's meet up and go out. Because if you're not kind of forcing everybody to get to know you a little bit first, then there is no incentive to not ghost people and just move on.

00:55:52 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 8:

You haven't put any work into it.

00:55:53 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 1:

I know.

00:55:54 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 2:

But the ghosting, and I go back to, I said this to my girlfriend. Even at one date, you've, your lives have, you've meshed, you've interacted. And so to just, like, there is a little bit of, God, what's the word? Accountability? Yeah, like, I do think so. You at least owe them something.

00:56:12 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 8:

Although a stye might be legitimate. I don't know. Like, you don't want to come out. Medina, what's up? Hey, how are you? Good. What was the craziest reason why you were ghosted?

00:56:23 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 7:

Because I don't drink.

00:56:25 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 8:

Really?

00:56:27 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 7:

I get ghosted all of the time because I am almost a year and a half sober. Shout out to me. Wow. That's good for you. Yeah, Medina. But when I tell you what is the biggest hindrance on my dating life, like I didn't understand how much people depend on liquor to have fun. Like I'm a boss when I'm sober. Like I'm a whole joke. So I'm going to keep you laughing regardless. Like we're going to laugh at everything. But, yeah, like it's very, very disheartening too because, like, you never get that connection with anybody.

00:56:57 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 8:

It's sad that these guys can't see that as you're bettering yourself and you don't need alcohol to be fun.

00:57:03 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because they don't want to know the old Medina because the old Medina.

00:57:06 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

00:57:07 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 7:

I love that.

00:57:10 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 8:

That's awesome. What's up, Michelle? How you doing?

00:57:14 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you?

00:57:15 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 8:

Good. Why did you have a guy ghost you?

00:57:18 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 5:

So I met this guy online, and he lived across the state, so we haven't gotten a chance to meet yet. But he ghosted me. He literally talked to me the morning of, and then he ghosted me after his son's birthday party that day. And he came back months later to tell me that he ghosted me because he lied about his domestic abuse charges against his ex-girlfriend slash baby mama. Oh, boy. And he didn't want me to find out.

00:57:46 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 8:

Oh, boy. Well, you know what? He's probably doing you a favor. That's a bullet. Probably doing you a favor, exactly. Yeah, he dodged a bullet.

00:57:52 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 6:

That's a really handsome face.

00:57:54 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 8:

Risa, what's up?

00:57:56 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I want to talk about getting ghosted. I hope I don't cry when I talk about it, but I met a guy online. We were together for a few years. I got pregnant. Found out I was pregnant with twins. I was 39. He stayed around for a couple months or whatever. One day he left my house to go to work. Here we are, 2025, and I've never seen him again. My kids just turned 14 on January 18th. And last Friday, I just found out that both of them got accepted to Renaissance High School.

00:58:43 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 2:

Mama, for 14 years, you did this all by yourself.

00:58:48 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 6:

I did. I have not seen him since. They've never asked about him. And I'm still kind of, it might sound stupid, but I'm still kind of dealing with it. I get that. I get that. And I'm so scared to get back into the dating world.

00:59:07 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 4:

I get that. Hey, did you file a missing persons report? No. Did you ever go try to look for him?

00:59:13 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 6:

I tried to do everything. Even to this day, I can't even get. Risa. That's important because I don't know where he is.

00:59:22 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:59:22 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 8:

Risa.

00:59:22 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, let's not focus on him. What a testament to you.

00:59:29 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. They are the best kids you've ever wanted to meet.

00:59:33 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 8:

We want to meet them. I want you to hang on the phone for a second, and I want you to tell Lydia when you can come in studio so that we can meet you and the kids. Yeah. We want to celebrate them. Okay? Yes. We would love that.

00:59:45 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:59:46 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 8:

So I want you to hang on the phone for just one second. Congratulations, Mom. You did a great job. And you know what? Reese A. Risa, you know who it is, but there's somebody that is making sure that they're not part of you.

01:00:00 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 1:

kid's life because your kids are better without him yeah i'm like if he did that do i really want that type of person around my right right hold on one second okay we love you hold on one second lydia get some information hold on uh t initial t wants to be voice disguised what were you ghosted

01:00:19 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 2:

over what happened so the guy that i was talking to he would tell me two weekends in a row that

01:00:27 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 1:

So the reason he didn't call you was his mom had his phone.

01:00:36 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:00:37 - 01:00:38 | Unknown:

Oh, God.

01:00:38 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 1:

These guys are... How old is this dummy?

01:00:42 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 2:

He's 41 now.

01:00:43 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. What a... Maddie, why were you ghosted?

01:00:50 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 4:

I actually did the ghosting myself.

01:00:55 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 1:

Why was that?

01:00:55 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 4:

um so i went to go like actually go on a date with this guy i had already met him previously in person but then i ended up finding out that he was a virgin i thought i could get past it we i go and meet him and like i said it's the first date and he had me meet his parents okay i'm the first date we go out to eat he's a virgin and he then expects not even expect because anyway he wanted me to take his virginity and i couldn't i pretend like i was sick and i went

01:01:34 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 1:

home and never talked to him again wow so you were the ghoster on that case he introduced you to his parents day one and then he wanted he asked you to take his virginity on the date that's a that's a second date update right there did he offer money wait how about if his parents how about if his parents said will you take will you take my kids virginity what was that jennifer lawrence

01:01:55 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 4:

movie is that what it was oh yeah what was that oh my god i'm telling you it was like so crazy i

01:02:03 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 1:

was just like oh my goodness unreal oh wait no hard feelings no hard feelings hold on elena's got one elena you there yeah hi why did a guy say that he couldn't go out with you anymore

01:02:14 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 5:

and he ghosted you um so i met this guy off hinge and we had a really good first date and i told him that i didn't want to see him again didn't hear from him for a couple days i'm like okay what's going on i was like you know like if you're not interested i keep texting him like just if you're not interested you can just tell me it's fine i don't hear from him still and then i get a text from him saying that he was so sorry he had to take his dog to the vet oh that took a couple days Do you think it was?

01:02:44 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was it legit, though? Did he have a dog?

01:02:47 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like, he had a dog, but, like, you couldn't just text me in between. Right. Before or after? Like, why is that? Wait, did he put his dog down?

01:02:57 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:02:59 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the dog is still alive and well. Oh, I was going to say, like, I get it if it's that, but not if he's fine.

01:03:06 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Initial L, I'm going to end on you, and you've got to tell your story quick for me. What did a guy do to ghost you, or who ghosted you?

01:03:14 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 3:

So I, good morning, first off. Good morning. So I ghosted the guy because I went to Chicago where my brother lives, met him, and we hung out, had a good time. And a day later, when I was still in Chicago, I get a call, and I was trying to figure out, like, who it was, and she told me that she's his wife, and he has three kids. And I was like, oh, he said he's divorced. She's like, no, like, he's not divorced.

01:03:42 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:03:43 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 3:

I dropped him off at his, I dropped him off at the corner of his block.

01:03:47 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez.

01:03:48 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 3:

I was just going to walk. And I was like, okay, like, we did just eat a, you know, nice. But I was like, that's weird.

01:03:55 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 1:

That is craziness. Well, you know what? You should have noticed when you dropped him off at the corner of his house that that was the case.

01:04:03 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 3:

He called me and I told him, like, no, your wife called me. And he was a big thing, and I just deleted his number.

01:04:10 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. These guys are fools.

01:04:15 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 5:

01:05:42 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 5:

getting their butt crack pierced but that's what mojo and i were just talking about please hold until the end of the dirty and i will tell you who i'm talking about celebrity is it me i really hope not friends don't let friends get their butt cracks pierced people one month after Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against her it ends with us co-star and director Justin Baldoni we've got a court date March 9th 2026 and we have to wait over a year to get this thing settled the judge's filing does also confirm a pre-trial conference there we go on February 3rd of this year so next week to discuss Blake's request for a gag order to be placed on Justin's lawyer, Brian Friedman, for the remainder of their legal proceedings. Also, and this was big yesterday, Justin Baldoni apparently sent Blake a seven-minute voice memo at 2 a.m. at some point during the movie's filming, okay? It's so in the morning. It's interesting. It was about the movie's famous rooftop scene, which you've heard talked about so many different times. It's one of the first scenes of the movie, which he says in his lawsuit that Blake completely rewrote after he agreed to let her pitch some changes. The audio message seems to reference Justin reading this rewritten scene at an alleged meeting with Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift. And you're going to hear him apologize for his lukewarm reception to the script.

01:07:10 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 1:

I for sure fell short and you worked really hard on that. and the way you framed it and how that made you feel. I just want to say thank you for sharing that with me.

01:07:26 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 5:

He tells Blake at one point that he will always admit and apologize when he fails, and he feels like he did here. He also notes that he is far from perfect and says, I'm a very flawed man. My wife can attest to that.

01:07:37 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 1:

They're two of the most creative people on the planet. The three of you guys together, it's unbelievable. Talk about energy and just to force all three of you. But I just wanted you to know that I didn't need that because it's really good and it's going to make the movie sing like you said. There's so much more.

01:07:55 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 2:

That guy's got a voice on him, doesn't he? Oh, yeah, daddy.

01:07:58 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 3:

That's his two in the morning voice. That is like a voicemail for somebody's wife.

01:08:02 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you.

01:08:03 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, but did you play the part where he references his wife over and over and over again and his communication skills with his wife?

01:08:09 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 5:

But I did just, I referenced that very quickly, but yes. Yeah.

01:08:13 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 2:

Morning. So would he talk about his wife if there was more to the relationship? What do you mean by that?

01:08:20 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 4:

I think it's very interesting that in every one of these situations that Blake has called him out in, when there's proof on his end, he's referencing his relationship to his wife and being respectful and communication constantly.

01:08:31 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 5:

Including in the video clips that were dropped last week as well. You heard that over and over again.

01:08:36 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

Because I did watch a scene, that rooftop scene, and she says that he was inappropriate with that scene. and I watched it and he didn't look inappropriate. Like they looked like they were and I saw them and I heard the video of them talking to each other. They looked like they were just having a conversation and, you know, doing their thing.

01:08:53 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 5:

And this is messy.

01:08:55 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Whose career comes out worse after this?

01:08:58 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Blake Lively, 100%.

01:09:00 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 2:

Is she truly like yesterday when you played that clip where it's like, is she the next Amber Heard? Do you think?

01:09:07 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 5:

We're bringing up false. I think this is going to be just as messy if not messier than that Johnny Depp, Amber Heard trial. Can I tell you something? I actually don't think it will make it all the way until March of next year.

01:09:17 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 2:

I want to watch the movie. I have not watched the movie. You haven't seen the movie? Has any of you guys seen the movie?

01:09:20 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I saw the movie. I actually really liked the movie.

01:09:23 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 2:

Let's watch it together. No, I'm not interested. I liked the movie a ton.

01:09:27 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 4:

I loved the book.

01:09:29 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm watching it. I'm watching it this weekend.

01:09:31 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 4:

It actually goes more into his favor that he was the one who got the rights to the book originally. He's the one that wanted to make that movie and was the driving force behind it. And then Blake coming forward and saying, I didn't read the book. And it's clear with her influence how it strays from the book. You can tell who cared about this project and who didn't.

01:09:51 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Wow.

01:09:53 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

It was Cardi B who posted an up-close look at her new butt crack piercing. It's called The Intergloom.

01:10:00 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 2:

intergluteal cleft. Oh, I like it. I learned something with this story. A cleft. Cleft. Oh, cleft. The intergluteal cleft. And fans basically were like, yeah, right. There's no way she got her butt crack pierced. So what does she do? She posted a very close up photo of it. It's a surface piercing. I'll save you from Googling. It's there. It's there. She did do it. And she captioned the photo. Do I lie? It's a surface piercing. But the

01:10:27 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 3:

The only thing that makes me nervous is I've had three of those rip out before. On your butt crack? No, just on my body. And the first thing I thought of was if she's wearing a thong, it's going to rip out.

01:10:36 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 2:

There's not a lot of skin fat there to pierce.

01:10:39 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:10:40 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

Or cartilage, whatever.

01:10:41 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 3:

That's the benefit of surface piercings. I've had three of them on my neck, one of them on my wrist. My sister has a wrist on that.

01:10:47 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

So look, is this one piercing or is this two different piercings?

01:10:51 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 3:

I can't tell if she has a bar under the skin or if it's two individual microdermals.

01:10:56 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 1:

But my butt crack is crazy.

01:11:00 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 3:

I know. It just seems risky. It just seems risky.

01:11:03 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

That's a different level. Like, how do you get me like, you know what I want to do today? I'm going to get my intergrudial cleft.

01:11:09 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a local rapper is sharing her story about the Lyft driver who refused to let her in his car. The driver apparently apologized and said his tires essentially couldn't handle her weight and she would not fit inside. Anyway, is this Jessica Dupenek doing the story or do we have another version of it? Because I know she did a version of it.

01:11:32 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 1:

I've not seen Jessica's story and I love Jessica. But this is the audio that, what's the rapper's name?

01:11:40 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Dank DeMoss.

01:11:42 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 1:

Dank DeMoss. This is her going out to the lift, Mercedes, the guy pulling up, and him telling her, you're not getting in the car, and actually locking the doors on her. She actually recorded this off her phone.

01:12:13 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. What makes you think I can't fit in this car? Because the car is small in the back. My best friend has a bitch. That's nowhere it is that I can fit in. That's the same time. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm more specific with you. I got very tired of tires. What I got to do with your tires? You say tired of tires? You have no space. How do you know I don't have no space?

01:12:37 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 1:

He's saying his tires wouldn't be able to hold her.

01:12:38 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 4:

How do you know I don't have no space? because i try people we gotta get i don't never have to order uber actually we gotta get her and

01:12:48 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 1:

her attorney on yes by the way if they don't make a ton of money off of this case live getting sued oh yeah the only thing you lifted is the bank account well i'm gonna tell you something for to be able to call a lift driver and have the lift driver say you're too fat to get in my car That guy shouldn't be driving that car Screaming sorry

That's amazing. Thank you.

01:14:41 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much. Hang on the phone for just one second. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. This War of the Roses is an interesting one because the thoughts of him cheating all stem back from the holidays and actually pre-holidays like Thanksgiving time. when she noticed that his ex was messaging him.

01:15:00 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 2:

They got engaged over the holidays, but now she's thinking that her fiancé is cheating. It's the War of the Roses.

01:15:08 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Rojo in the Morning.

01:15:14 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 2:

Brittany, why do you think your fiancé is cheating on you?

01:15:19 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 5:

He had like a tattoo of his mom's name, but it's also his ex's name. And he always told me like, oh, it's like a weird coincidence. and we would like laugh about it in the beginning of our relationship uh but then I just like recently saw that he had like a Facebook request from that same ex on Thanksgiving and I don't know it got me weirded out and I thought she was still kind of like hanging around and um we've been just like fighting more like we got engaged recently and yeah it just we've been having a lot of stress like wedding planning and stuff and i don't know i'm just freaking out

01:16:05 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 2:

thinking that he's do you believe that his ex is uh that that tattoo was for his ex or the tattoo

01:16:15 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 5:

was for his mom like i don't know i mean i can't really say really because it's it's still kind of weirded me out but he would always joke about it so i never in the beginning of our relationships

01:16:29 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 2:

i never like because i anything of it i i know what kind of a tattoo is it is it is it a tattoo with roses and thorns and things like that like like what like how did what does the tattoo look

01:16:42 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 5:

like is it something that you would get for your mom well actually it's funny it does have roses on it well that could also be yeah yeah so I can't really I mean besides the fact that he's

01:16:56 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 2:

dated a girl that has the same name as his mom which honestly would be kind of weird I mean but and then he gets a tattoo and you wonder if the tattoo is actually that of something to, you know, be nice to his mom. Do you ever ask his mom about the tattoo?

01:17:16 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 5:

No, I feel weird doing that.

01:17:18 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 2:

So you've never, in all the time that you guys have been in a relationship and you guys are engaged, you never said to his mom, is that tattoo for you or that tattoo for his ex?

01:17:28 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 5:

No, I haven't. No, I just, I don't know. I feel kind of weird asking about that.

01:17:32 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 3:

You don't even need to say it that way though. You just say like, how does it feel that your son got a tattoo for like in tribute to you that's beautiful and if she looks at you like a deer in headlights you know that tattoo is not for her that's that's true that's a that's that's a good way to do it

01:17:49 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

actually i always find it interesting that we'll ask anything in the world but not the most specific question we possibly should be asking yeah which is is that tattoo something that

01:17:59 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 4:

i should be concerned about but at the same time a tattoo of an ex does not explicitly mean that he's cheating. It could have just been a poor

01:18:07 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 2:

decision. Right. No, I get it. But now she's back in their life, which could be another poor decision. You know?

01:18:14 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think a part of me, like, doesn't want to know. You know? But you have to.

01:18:20 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 2:

We're going to have Shannon call, offer him a dozen free roses, see where he's going to send the flowers to. We're hoping that he sends them to you. Mute your phone so that we don't hear anybody else on the line. Okay. And we hope that the flowers go to Brittany.

01:18:50 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

01:18:51 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi, is this Nick?

01:18:53 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:18:54 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Nick. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. Actually calling with an offer for some free flowers for you if you've got like 30 seconds. We're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that you can send to the person of your choice anywhere in the whole country. Absolutely free of charge. Not going to ask you for any sort of financial information or credit card numbers or anything like that. We're just trying to spread the name about our new business. And we're hoping that you have somebody in your life that you would want to send some free flowers to.

01:19:27 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Yeah, sure.

01:19:30 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Let me ask you the questions first, Nick. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months?

01:19:35 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 1:

Uh, no.

01:19:37 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

01:19:41 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 1:

Not specifically, no.

01:19:43 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And I'm now authorized to provide you with that one dozen long-stemmed red roses. And here's how this works. I'm going to get a first and a last name from you of who these are going to go to, to start, and then we'll kind of go from there. Okay? Quick and easy.

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 1:

okay okay so who are these gonna go to and they can go out as early as today by

01:20:04 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 2:

the way okay you can just just write down Nadia okay and does Nadia have a last name you can just leave it as it is okay and I need a telephone number for her Nick Nick yeah I need a telephone number for her okay okay and we're

01:20:45 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 1:

actually starting a profile for you and this is just so that we can make this process way faster in the future if you do decide to order from us and hopefully you do so I've got Nadia's name and telephone number I just need her relationship to you relationship yep it just it I have to do it I have to click this button it just helps us categorize like whether we're supposed to you know offer you romantic arrangements or if this is your sister colleague you can mother okay so this is your mom yes okay and Nick we also offer something unique at roses bloom calm in lieu of a paper card we record a digital voice memo and that will be texted to in this case Nadia when the flowers get delivered to her so we're gonna go ahead and record that right now okay all right okay I'm going to count you down. Three, two, one. From Nick. Okay. Got it? Yep, I got it. And Nick, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes.

01:21:57 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 4:

Are you okay with that? Yeah, that's all right. Okay. And Nick, I need to also just inform you have one last thing before we lose you okay and then we'll send those flowers off okay uh nick i need to inform you that this is actually the mojo in the morning show and that your fiancee britney is on the phone with us right now

01:22:24 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 3:

hey i don't even i don't think i it's really hard to believe that you just send those to your mom

01:22:31 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I don't... Brittany, you think that there's something wrong with that?

01:22:38 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm sorry. You just gave her on holidays. Now, out of nowhere,

01:22:43 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 4:

you just... I don't know. Nick, this is the Mojo in the morning show. Okay. And Brittany wanted to see who you were going to send a dozen free roses to.

01:22:55 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and I sent them to my mom.

01:22:57 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 4:

Right. I understand that, but I also know that she's just worried about you and She's worried about me? Well she was just worried about what's going on in your relationship but I find nothing wrong with you sending those to your mom. Are you

01:23:14 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 3:

still talking to your ex? What? You didn't get a Facebook message?

01:23:21 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 2:

A Facebook message? I don't know what you're talking about.

01:23:26 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 3:

Why are you lying right now like on Thanksgiving you didn't get a Facebook message from your ex I have no idea what

01:23:35 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 2:

you're talking about if you saw a Facebook message on there that you're the only one who saw it so

01:23:39 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 4:

real quick quick because I need to let him know more about us calling and make sure he's okay with this Nick Brittany called us up because she was worried that something was going on and so she asked us to call you up and you did just send the flowers to your mom but that was the problem is that the person that she's worried that you're possibly with is somebody that you had a relationship with that also has the same name as your mom.

01:24:08 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 2:

Why do you know all this information?

01:24:12 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 4:

Because of Brittany told us this.

01:24:16 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 2:

It hasn't been an issue until recently, and she thinks I'm cheating. That's her own thing. I'm not.

01:24:25 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 3:

It's my own thing. So, you haven't been speaking to her, right? Like, you haven't had a conversation with her on Facebook.

01:24:32 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 4:

But Brittany, he just sent flowers to his mom and just gave his mom's phone number to us.

01:24:37 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't, I really don't believe him. I don't believe you.

01:24:41 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 2:

You know what, this is f***ing crazy.

01:24:45 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 3:

How is, how is it?

01:24:50 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 4:

So, you don't buy any of this?

01:24:52 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 3:

no i don't i don't know why i just really don't believe him i don't know why I just don't. Do you think, Brittany, maybe you're trying to find problems here? Like, do you have cold feet about the wedding? Because it didn't come off like he was being inauthentic. I just, it's just, I...

01:25:13 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 1:

Or did he know it was us? People are sending us messages saying that they feel like he knew it was us.

01:25:19 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't be surprised, actually. Like, I wouldn't be surprised.

01:25:22 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang on one second.

01:25:24 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Yo, yo. Yeah. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:25:30 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 5:

And second, I just knew from jump, I feel like.

01:25:36 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 2:

Call Mojo in the morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

01:25:44 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. Just heard the War of the Roses. And the tattoo of Nadia, who is the Nadia. Allison, what are your thoughts on this one?

01:25:56 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, first of all, no one, a man does not get his mother's first name tattooed on him just alone like that. And second, I just knew from jump, I felt like he knew what was going on or he knew that this was like a ploy or something. I don't believe it.

01:26:13 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 1:

It's interesting because we were having that discussion about getting a tattoo for your mom. You would probably tattoo it mom, right? Or you wouldn't like to, you know what I mean?

01:26:23 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 5:

I know somebody who got the name. something around well i have my mother's name on me but i'm a woman a man like we would get something that would be significantly like you know this is my mom like it would be specifically tattooed my mom this is my mom's name this is her tattoo and just from the conversation the way he

01:26:44 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 1:

was just so like nonchalant yeah i i don't know it just it is her name and the roses and all the rest of that stuff yeah no um all right thank you for the call allison i appreciate you what's up

01:26:57 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 3:

chloe how you doing good how are you good morning good morning first time okay so i have a comment on britney yeah she sounds super insecure like if this has not been an issue until recently then homegirl does not need to be getting married i'm sorry but chloe i've been through the whole

01:27:19 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 1:

insecure thing what about the x what about the x uh messaging him what about that oh i forgot about that well did he ever say that he saw it he said he didn't see yeah i'd come on okay well okay then

01:27:34 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 3:

i guess that's a little that's a little different then but why didn't she bring it up before this

01:27:39 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 1:

to him about the x messaging well i think she was kind of holding off a little bit and she was waiting until you know she could get more information and then she just never got enough good information to put it out of her mind that's why she wanted us to do it away when there is

01:27:53 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 4:

something like that that happens and i'll say like well did you ask and the answer i i would

01:27:57 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

ask for 30 seconds um amber what's your question uh i'm just curious if the phone number that he gave y'all is his mom's number or if it's the other girl's number okay so here's here's the

01:28:10 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 1:

the deal with that the number is mom's number but the problem though with that is a lot of people including all of us when we were going through listening to the audio of that thought that he might have changed thinking that we were on the phone thinking that it was us and it was the war

01:28:31 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

of the roses and that's why he then gave his mom like he switched up yeah because he seemed like

01:28:37 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 1:

He kind of, and I don't know if maybe it was issues with his phone or not, but it seemed kind of weird. And that's the problem with having, dating somebody that has the same name as your mom, you know?

01:28:49 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it could go either way. That sucks. I hope Brittany figures it out.

01:28:54 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, either way, this is not going to be a good situation in that relationship if you're accusing him of cheating this early on. What's up, that guy?

01:29:00 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 4:

hi hey uh i thought it was interesting that you guys mentioned the similarity between the names both having the name nadia and then catching that maybe there there might have been something going on and it being fishy but why doesn't she know the mom's name that like what if the mom's name's

01:29:19 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 1:

not nadia no she knows she knows mom's name's nadia but she knows that but she doesn't believe it she doesn't believe that that's the tattoo that's but she's never said anything she's never ask the mom hey you know why would he tattoo your name on on your body or what do you think about

01:29:34 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 4:

this like that's never come up in conversation yeah that's interesting i don't know i think i'm a big communication person so i think that there's a lot lacking here regardless so there should be some type of pause going on in the relationship to figure out that going forward

01:29:50 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 1:

in my opinion i would actually have that conversation with his mom you know about this What's up, Dustin? How you doing?

01:29:57 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 4:

Good, and yourself?

01:29:58 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing okay. What's going on? buddy good um i actually thought it was kind of weird that he said from nate and not from your son um and i also think that you know it doesn't long stem red roses i don't know i i think the long stem red roses to your mom it's i don't know is it a little much you know maybe some like

01:30:24 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 7:

different flowers but not but not interestingly enough can i tell you something when when i sort of wore the roses years ago the whole idea stemmed from a survey that was done and you remember the old magazine cosmo magazine is that even still around there was an article in cosmo magazine that said if a man were offered a dozen free roses who would they send them to and a majority of the guys said they would send them to their mom so i don't necessarily think sending roses to your mom is a bad thing. Roses mean love, and you can still love your mom. It's not like love, like loving your mom. You know, it's not like you're a mother. It's not like you're a mother effer. You know what I mean?

01:31:02 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 6:

It's only weird when you think about it.

01:31:04 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:31:04 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 6:

Like when you just grab your mom some flowers, it really don't matter what they are outside of her favorite flower. It's just flowers from your mom.

01:31:11 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Laura? Hi.

01:31:14 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I just thought the way that he said the name in the beginning didn't. I know they have the same name. I know. The mom and the ex.

01:31:21 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 7:

That's what I felt.

01:31:22 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 2:

He's like Nadia.

01:31:23 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 7:

He's like Nadia.

01:31:24 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't say Margie if I'm talking about my mom. It just sounded.

01:31:29 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 7:

Listen back to the podcast. Zach, podcast up. Listen to the podcast of that, how he said the name. And the name saying sounds not like I would say my mother's name. Like, I would say my mom's name was Pat. It was Patricia. I would say, yeah, send it to Patricia. I wouldn't say, send it to Patricia. I wouldn't sound like Jason Beldoni

01:31:53 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 4:

at 2 in the morning

01:31:55 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 7:

up on the rooftop you don't do that sexy voice I don't do the sexy voice

01:32:01 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 4:

as someone who calls their parent by their first name I say it anyway that fits the mood of my attitude while addressing it

01:32:07 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 7:

let me hear you say Scott Mick in a sexy and non-sexy way

01:32:10 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 4:

Scott Mick

01:32:11 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 7:

stop

01:32:12 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 4:

Shannon Murphy it's inappropriate the way you talk about my father and your husband and I are going to fight about this later but i think there is a difference between sometimes i'm like oh like scott mick and then like scott mick like i think if you call somebody by their first name you can say it

01:32:29 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

different ways hayley what's up hi i was just um i noticed when shannon was you know asking him for the number he kind of paused for a little bit and to me i would i mean i know my parents numbers by heart. So that was the first thing that kind of threw a red flag. So that pause you think, do you think that pause

01:32:50 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 7:

was him deciding which Nadia he was giving it to? Or maybe

01:32:53 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 3:

just like looking it up, like the rosesbloom.com thing. Yeah.

01:32:58 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 7:

That's what I wonder too. I wonder if he knew it was us. What's up, Joe?

01:33:03 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 8:

Yes. Hi. Good morning. First time long time. Hey, Joe. Good morning. Good morning. What up, Joe? People get so excited. I think the name Nadia, I think that is his ex. I don't think it's mom. I have a tattoo on me that says mom, not my mom's name on me.

01:33:23 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 7:

Where do you have that tattoo, Joe?

01:33:26 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 8:

On my arm.

01:33:28 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 7:

Okay, yeah. So right there. That's a smart move.

01:33:30 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 6:

Close to the palm or bicep?

01:33:33 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 4:

I think I'm more freaked out that people think getting names are weirder than getting mom versus who the flowers are going to. Like, to me, getting somebody's name is not that big of a deal compared to the word mom. People seem to have a bigger problem with that.

01:33:47 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 7:

I think that there's a lot to read into this. And I do think that it will require listening back to the podcast because I think you've got to listen to how he said the name. And I really do think that there's something big to that. And then also giving out the phone number. So it's definitely a I would listen back to the podcast to see what your thoughts are.

01:34:06 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 5:

First, though, it's Mojo in the Morning Show, and Kev with some crazy superstitions.

01:36:18 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 4:

No, I want a note of crazy superstitions. First off, are you all superstitious?

01:36:22 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 3:

Very.

01:36:22 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 4:

I'm pretty superstitious. You say very?

01:36:24 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:36:25 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:36:26 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 3:

No. Yeah. I try not to because I try to let my faith say that I shouldn't be superstitious, but I am superstitious. I do the same routines every single day. I one time was so superstitious, Shannon, remember this, when Hagerty Road was shut down, I would drive through the construction zone because I thought I was going to have a bad show.

01:36:44 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 1:

No, seriously. He thought it would affect our ratings if he took a different way into work.

01:36:48 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 4:

So you did something illegal as I drove through the barricades.

01:36:52 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 1:

You're psychotic.

01:36:53 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 4:

Look, Doc, so when I was younger, it made me, so something happened recently with my mom, but it made me think about, like, the first time that I had a superstition that really hit me, where I was like, okay, this means something. I'm going to pay attention to this. My grandma's crazy. She was on a couple of days ago, whatever the case was. She told me when I was younger, when the sun is shining and it's raining at the same time, that mean the devil beating his wife. What? We hit. We hit. This is, listen, she's, and I was like, and so any time, any time it's raining in the sunshine, I'd have been like, oh no, Miss Satan. Wow.

01:37:31 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 2:

But look, so. Is that what the. Miss Satan. I've never thought about a Miss Satan.

01:37:37 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 5:

Persephone. Ever.

01:37:38 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 4:

That's how I was when I was younger, dog. I was like, oh my God.

01:37:41 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 5:

Or Lilith, depending on which, what we're talking about.

01:37:44 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

Whenever I hear that, I think to myself, I think that there's going to be a rainbow. I never thought of it that way.

01:37:49 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. This is what she told me. I'll never forget it. But my mom was over at a place the other day, and she had like a bag with her and her purse on the couch. And I was like, why don't you just let me put it on the floor? She's like, no, you don't put purses on the floor. You don't ever put a woman's purse on the floor.

01:38:02 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Because I grabbed it. She was like, no, no, no, no. You don't put that on the floor. See, my purse is on the floor now. See, that's what I'm saying.

01:38:08 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea always yells at me if I try to put her purse on the floor. You don't put a woman's purse on the floor.

01:38:12 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 2:

But if I put my shoes on the kitchen counter or a table, my husband freaks out. That is bad luck forever and ever to him. Bad luck or dirty, yeah.

01:38:23 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's also dirty. They say.

01:38:25 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 2:

But, like, if shoes go on, like, the counter I'm about to grab him, which I don't know why I do that, but I do it all the time, he freaks out.

01:38:32 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

A purse on the floor, isn't it, that you're going to go, like, broke or something like that? That's what she said. Yep. There's some kind of, like, yeah, we're.

01:38:38 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 5:

There is superstition. Come on.

01:38:40 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that there's something to that.

01:38:43 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 1:

No, there's not.

01:38:45 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes, there is.

01:38:45 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 1:

There's nothing to that.

01:38:47 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you. I agree. You put a woman's purse... First off, Megan, you said yesterday that you're broke. You put your purse on the floor. We got the answer. There's the answer right there.

01:38:57 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 2:

More blame being placed on me. Got it.

01:38:59 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Asia, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:39:02 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 4:

Hey, y'all. Good morning. Okay. Like you were saying, my grandma told me when it was thundering out that I was getting like yelling out.

01:39:12 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 5:

Wait, say that again. Can you take us off speaker?

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, pick up the phone.

01:39:17 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:39:17 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, your mom told you when it was thundering out, what?

01:39:22 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so when I was thundering, when it was thundering out, that was Satan's life, like, screaming out. It wasn't the, like, the thunder, like, or the sunshine, like, kept listening in my house, totally.

01:39:33 - 01:39:33 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:39:33 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 5:

And then my grandma, she, you can't point with your pointer finger. You have to point with your thumb, or else death is going to point back at you. Oh.

01:39:42 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 4:

That's wild. Because you got three fingers pointing at you? Is that what it is? Yeah. D, heard that one.

01:39:50 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, thank you for the call. Christine, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:39:55 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was always taught that yellow layers are bad luck.

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 6:

That what?

01:40:01 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 3:

Yellow lighters are bad luck. Why?

01:40:03 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I thought it was white. That's something I was always taught. There's been times when we've gone to our local party store, and they give us a free lighter here and there, and they'll hand us a yellow lighter, and we will literally just say, no, thank you. We've gotten packs of party lighters, too, and we just throw those away.

01:40:24 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 3:

Why yellow, though? What is it with the yellow lighters?

01:40:26 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I thought it was white.

01:40:27 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 7:

It is bad luck. It's bad luck. If you look it up, I've always been taught yellow lighters are bad luck.

01:40:34 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Hold on. We're going to look it up right now.

01:40:37 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of yellow, did you know you're supposed to wear yellow underwear on New Year's Eve for good luck? I've never heard that.

01:40:44 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah. Yellow underwear? I don't think I got yellow underwear. Is that because if you pee yourself, nobody knows? Yellow lighters, bad luck. It says yellow lighters are considered bad luck. They say that the superstition has been held for such a long, since, I guess, the beginning of time. But then they also say white lighter myth began in the 1960s when white Bic lighters were commonly used by Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and Janis Joplin. So there's things, which I have no idea. They're all dead or something? Oh, is that what it is? Okay. The purse on the floor thing You should see all these text messages Absolutely don't you ever put my purse on the floor That is 734

01:41:31 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 4:

You know what I heard though then? Bananas, bad luck Because everybody who's ever died had a banana That's how crazy y'all sound I was like

01:41:39 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 3:

Another 313 says Work at a restaurant And we have never put a purse on the floor We always bring chairs over for their purses Hannah What's your superstition that you have Hannah?

01:41:55 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 5:

I have to turn the lamp in my living room down to 1% brightness every night or else I believe my toddler won't sleep through the night.

01:42:02 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. So it happened one night and you just kept going with it, huh?

01:42:06 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was like the first time she slept the night as a newborn and I was like, that's it forever. Let me tell you something. It hasn't worked every day.

01:42:12 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 2:

As a mom, those are like the critical ones that you cling to. Please, dear God, let her sleep through the night. I'll do anything. I will turn this down to 1% every night for the rest of my life. And it sounds like it worked.

01:42:24 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to lie to you, though. I'm a sports person, right? I played sports and stuff. And you wear something that's the good luck thing. You go on a winning streak, you'll continue to wear it, you know? I mean, you see it probably with the Pistons guys. Those guys are probably the most superstitious guys ever. They go on a streak of scoring, and Cade Cunningham, you know, probably has to have some of his little things. The same meal before the games. Do you notice Dan Campbell? One of the rumors was that Dan Campbell wore the same sideline shirt throughout the whole year. Well, you'd see other coaches in the league wearing, they would always tell them, the NFL would tell them what shirts to wear. And they said Dan Campbell would always wear that same, just very plain black, like Nike sideline shirt. Did he wear the last guy? You know what? I think that he started switching it up the last couple of games. So maybe you know. That would be crazy. Maybe you know. Actually, Megan is right something with bananas. What's up, Lexi?

01:43:19 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I have my daughter in the car. and we are avid boaters and we wanted to call in. It's really bad luck to have bananas on a boat. Really?

01:43:30 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

What does it do?

01:43:32 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 1:

No idea. I brought a banana on the boat one time when my husband and I were dating and he instantly threw it off the boat and freaked out.

01:43:40 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 3:

My gosh. You know what? If I'm on a boat, if somebody brings a banana now, I'm going to throw it overboard. Them. Misfit Nicole. What's going on, Nicole?

01:43:51 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 8:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning.

01:43:54 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:43:55 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 8:

So I was listening to the topic. I grew up with a black Southern grandmother, so I have so many superstitions that I still practice. So one of them is, like, if you sweep my feet with a broom, I have to spit on it.

01:44:09 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:44:11 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 8:

I don't know why, but it's bad luck if you don't.

01:44:15 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:44:15 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Who told you that?

01:44:17 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 8:

Grandma. Oh, grandma. My grandmother. Okay. And then, in my house as a child, if spiders were in the house, never threw them away, we would pick them up, put them in a napkin, you put it in your purse, and it means you're going to get money. Absolutely not.

01:44:34 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 4:

I'd rather, I would rather die than put a spider in my purse.

01:44:38 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 8:

You're going to get money, you're going to get big. I always thought ladybugs were good luck if you phone them in your house. No, you get cash. If you've got a long-leg spider in your house. A dead long-leg? That was your grandma just trying to get you to pick up the spiders.

01:44:49 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

so so nicole nicole do you always

01:45:00 - 01:45:03 | Speaker 1:

hold on to these things because you were taught them? Like, do you actually follow everyone?

01:45:04 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Like, my mother does too. Like, on New Year's Day, Ed had to walk in the house first. I couldn't walk in the house because a man has to cross the threshold. Oh, I don't like that one.

01:45:17 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 1:

And that is New Year's because it starts the New Year off right.

01:45:22 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 3:

New Year's Day. Yeah, because it starts the New Year off right. That doesn't feel like New Year's Day. That just feels like...

01:45:28 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

You know what you should do with Ed? You should say to him, And she also said, you have to walk in there and then clean it all up for me and then call me when it's all done. Get him to pick up some stuff around there.

01:45:40 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 3:

And you can't wash because you'll wash your relatives away.

01:45:44 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. So, wait a second. I have more. You haven't washed yourself? What are you talking about?

01:45:49 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 3:

No, on New Year's Day, you can't wash.

01:45:52 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 1:

You can't wash anything.

01:45:54 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 3:

Because you'll wash your loved ones. No, you can't wash. You wash your body, but you can't wash clothes. Because you'll wash your loved ones around.

01:46:00 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's because your grandma never wanted to do laundry on New Year's Day. No, I don't call her.

01:46:06 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 3:

Call me in and support me.

01:46:08 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 1:

No, this is all craziness. This ain't sweater weather. It's wear your whole wardrobe weather. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, Mojo in the Morning show. Hold on, I like this one. Bianca, what was the superstition?

01:46:25 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 2:

So my grandma told us that red lipstick was for whores. it's not a superstition it's just a prejudice there's a difference

01:46:37 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 1:

I think she may be right with that one she's on to something

01:46:41 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 2:

no no no we all look really good in red lipstick so I really hope not because we all wear red lipstick that bitch was a hoe

01:46:50 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 1:

alright Mojo on the morning show I gotta tell you guys a story that I realize that sometimes we're not the greatest of friends and it happened over the weekend so it was hanging out with the joe show with joe jed ashley and terry and we're all together we're all partying and at the end of the night i realized my son joe is not as good a friend to his best buddy in the world jed we all know jed right we love jed well here's the reason why and i want to ask you guys this question if you are out drinking with friends and you see a friend about to do something like or do someone and it's not a good situation because they've had too much to drink they're about to leave with somebody and you think it's going to be a bad one do you step in and do you be the good friend saying you're going to regret this in the morning absolutely the answer is yes

01:47:47 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 4:

you and have you ever done this before absolutely the answer is yes all right i want to i want to

01:47:51 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 1:

open this up and ask you guys this question 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 and here's the reason why so we're all hanging out we're all drinking and honestly we all didn't have enough to eat to hold our drinks so any kind of drink that we were putting in our system basically it was like we got roofied for god's sakes because we were drinking uh and getting drunk so fast jed was the worst jed had more girls hitting on him than i've ever seen a human being ever have hit on him in in one time oh did i mean he was first off he should go to this pirate festival thing all the time wearing the outfit that he was wearing because he was showing off his guns and stuff like that he had these big old muscles going on and at the end of the night we're all like all right we're gonna go i'll call the uber you know i'll get a big one so that we all can drive together and jed came with us and jed goes hey partner uh i'm not gonna i'm not gonna go with you i'm gonna leave and go over to this girls and i go what and he you know tells me that he's gonna go hang out with these girls and i kind of stop for a second and i go you know i gotta be really careful because i start playing parent a little bit you know because jed's like a son to me so i go over to joe and i go hey joe jed's about to leave with this girl and i don't think that he's gonna wake up tomorrow morning and think that he would made a right decision why let me just say this to you this girl was a mess what do you mean uh she was first off just say she was not his type no she was no no no i'm gonna be honest honestly if i was drunk i'd probably at his age i would have probably done her too yeah and i think that and i looked at it and i said to myself i'm like you're not gonna be happy the next day because she's definitely not a girl like it's a relationship type like she's not how do you know that you're just looking at her because

01:49:38 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 4:

if you saw what this girl was doing first off you can tell let's all be real you can tell and you also know your friends type you done had some wild nights too shannon and you're a nice respectable mother listen uh let's not judge yeah uh okay yes come on i'm telling you this

01:49:52 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

girl was not good so i go to joe i go joe you got to step in and joe goes nah let's go Joe is

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 2:

looking more for the conversation on the radio show the next day of what happened and less for I want to

01:50:05 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 1:

protect my friend. See, that's the difference in that story. Also, how did Jed feel the next morning that he woke up?

01:50:11 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 2:

He didn't say much. Did you check in with anybody?

01:50:13 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 1:

He didn't say much. Because he was ashamed. He was ashamed. Because he wishes his best buddy in the whole world, Joe, would have saved him. My dog dressed up like a pirate. It don't matter.

01:50:22 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 2:

He having a night. He trying to find some booty. He had to walk ashamed from this girl's house. Jen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are ya?

01:50:30 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm great Joe is a bad friend I feel like that is bad friend moves right there

01:50:37 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 2:

I agree and the problem was Ashley wasn't even there to help stop everything although I think Ashley's probably the worst of the two between Joe and her because she would have been like yeah Jet go for it

01:50:52 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 5:

girls protect

01:50:53 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 2:

yeah I think you gotta step in Alex, have you ever had to step in to help a friend?

01:51:02 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I had to help my friend from my uncle. My uncle came to the bar, and my friend was trying to hook up with him, and I had to stop it.

01:51:14 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 2:

Are you serious? How old is your uncle compared to your age?

01:51:17 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 3:

My friend was 21, and my uncle's in his 40s.

01:51:20 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. So you had to, like, get in there and stop the insanity, stop the booty call.

01:51:27 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 3:

yes he was trying to get in her pants in the bar and i had to stop it in the parking lot when he was trying to get her to go home and your friend was your friend was into it your

01:51:39 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 2:

friend wanted your uncle my friend was so plastered would your friend then be your aunt how would that work out

01:51:46 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 3:

my friend my uncle also has a wife at home oh god yeah you did the right thing what what would

01:51:55 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 2:

you have done if your uncle got in her pants and left with her would you have told your aunt

01:52:00 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 3:

um i i've never met his new wife i haven't i haven't seen him in oh that's weird 10 years

01:52:07 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 2:

that's kind of a wild family situation he just popped up at the bar that's crazy what's up nick

01:52:11 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 6:

how you doing hey can you hear me i got you nick are you a good friend uh um well it's it's kind of matter like women women look out for women and their friends men encourage the dumbest thing that

01:52:27 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 2:

a guy can do when he's drunk i agree some would say that's looking out my my friends like if i

01:52:34 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 6:

they just have me do the dumbest stuff if i was like yeah share a little story

01:52:42 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 1:

Do you have an example?

01:52:45 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 6:

Um, well, are you familiar with mopeds?

01:52:48 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:52:49 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 2:

We've heard of them. You know the term, a moped? Do you know? Yeah.

01:52:53 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, it's the term, the moped. It's like the...

01:52:56 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I don't.

01:52:57 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 6:

The thing you want to see your friend ride, the thing that they don't want to be riding.

01:53:01 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 2:

Right. You don't want to...

01:53:03 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 1:

Wait, I'm reading something in here. Oh, like a grenade whistle. Oh, this is just derogatory towards women.

01:53:09 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 2:

You don't ever want to see your friend riding a moped, meaning riding a bad girl that he's going to be with.

01:53:16 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 6:

I've never heard that. I'm not saying I've ever done that, but I've maybe encouraged it a couple times.

01:53:22 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 2:

I get it. Hey, ride's a ride. Hey, Lee, what's up? Lee Lee.

01:53:28 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I just, I agree with the last caller. Oh, first of all, I'm a first-time long guy. Hey, Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee, Lee. but also um i just wanted to agree with the last part i feel like women naturally we kind of like protect our friends like keep them under our wings if we see something when we're out and we're like no that's a bad idea we make sure like no you're gonna get your ass in the car and we're leaving but with the guy i just feel like guys don't do that but like i kind of like like he said encourage it like okay this is going to be funny this is going to be something to talk about

01:54:03 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 2:

you know what it is women encourage anything that they can get a good instagram picture with men men encourage anything that they can get a good i just saw my friend having sex with that

01:54:16 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 1:

girl with and radio hosts encourage anything that's going to be a great topic on the earth

01:54:20 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 2:

absolutely i realized the problem with joe is he learned from the worst individual ever that It could be influencing him.

01:54:28 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:54:29 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 2:

His dad.

01:54:30 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 5:

You said it.

01:54:31 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 2:

Not a good situation. Ryan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:54:36 - 01:54:38 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Mojo? First time.

01:54:39 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Hey. Ryan's on the phone. What's going on, buddy?

01:54:44 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, man? It's been my way to work. Me, personally, I believe that Joe did nothing wrong.

01:54:50 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 2:

Preach. Yeah. You're like Kevin. You guys both got no morals.

01:54:55 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 6:

Let him cook. Nah, man, if our friends are out having a wild night.

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 5:

night, I'm going to encourage the hell out of my friends to do something stupid.

01:55:07 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And reasoning is why you want to have one up on them, don't you?

01:55:12 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they're going to be great stories in the future.

01:55:14 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. That's, that's the problem with guys like you. I'm telling you, I've been, how old are you? You must be 25 or 30, right? Yeah. 25. So when I was 25 years old, I was like you, Ryan, I was not a nice guy. One day later in your life, you're going to grow some morals. It will happen to you. Kevin's in that same boat right now. You're on the same age with these guys.

01:55:36 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 3:

It's about having a good time. And who am I to stop my friend from smiling?

01:55:41 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

It's not about having a good time. It's exactly what it's about. It's about having the right time. And, Dee, you're also a friend that's a pain in the ass. I just saw you up here, too. The right time. Look at you, Dee. What's going on, Dee?

01:55:54 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you guys doing? Good morning.

01:55:57 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 4:

Dee, what's up, Dee? You sound like you've left with a few that you probably shouldn't. You've had your share of mopeds, too, huh?

01:56:03 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, yeah, hey, hey, yeah. I got a few baby mamas that hate me.

01:56:08 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, and that's the thing I was hoping that wouldn't happen, the baby mamas that wouldn't happen. All right.

01:56:15 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 1:

No, no, but I'm just saying I'm going to let my friend go home with somebody, depending on, I mean, if he gets booty. If he doesn't get no booty, then, hey, he's got to take a stab at it. So I'm going to let him go on and venture out.

01:56:26 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 4:

Make sure that you don't ever become a friend of mine. I'll talk to you later. What's up, Mike? Hold on, Mike. You there? Yeah, I'm here, Mojo. Mike's got the story. Zach, this has got to be the story of stories for this one. We're talking about never let your friends ever leave with a bad booty call. What's going on?

01:56:46 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 5:

I still don't let this down to this day. I still hear about it because this is a girl. I ended up being a nightmare to my buddy. So, we're at a party up at Central Michigan University. Fire up chips. My buddy is 20 years old, and at the time, he's still a virgin. We all rag on him for it all the time, right? So, we basically get him wasted, pure pressure him into sleeping with our buddy's girlfriend's friend. And he ends up losing his virginity and getting her pregnant. Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. And let me tell you, Mojo, this girl was like that girl where you're like, yeah, I need to get my buddy laid. That was her. No offense to her, but.

01:57:33 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, she obviously wanted to have sex. She wanted sex with him, too.

01:57:36 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she was like, she was.

01:57:38 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

And now she forever is with him. Oh, my goodness. Now she's a part of his life.

01:57:42 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 5:

Even that, it's worse because she's like a walking hot mess. They are not together. He has to pay child support. He has to – it's been, like, a court nightmare, and, like, we all – And you did it. And it was all – nice job. We did do it.

01:58:00 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Nice job, friend. I don't do it.

01:58:04 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 5:

I am now a 30-year-old man with morals. I'm not the 25-year-old I once was.

01:58:09 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 4:

See what happens when Kevin gets to become, you know, a little bit more mature in his ways. He will understand where I'm coming from with this one.

01:58:17 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 3:

No, nothing wrong happened in the story. He just didn't wrap it up. No, that's it. The story was good. It's a, you know, that happened.

01:58:25 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

All I got to say again is fire up chips.

01:58:30 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 5:

Have a good morning, guys. Take care of yourself.

01:58:32 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 4:

Bye.

01:58:33 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 5:

Mojo.

01:58:34 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 4:

It's our second favorite four-letter word.

01:58:36 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:58:39 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to give you a chance to go see Justin Timberlake, 844 Mojo line. 844-665-654. It's going to be a great show, man. You do know some Justin Timberlake. You know, by the way, Justin Timberlake sang that song, Jack and Diane, that I just played just a couple minutes ago. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. By the way, it is so nice having you as a friend because I realized the barometer of music that I listened to or grew up listening to that Kevin's like, I have no idea what that song is.

01:59:11 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 3:

You walked in this morning singing Stevie Wonder, though.

01:59:13 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 4:

That was. I know Stevie Wonder. But my musical taste kind of goes a little bit vast. I don't know. I like that. Like, my favorite is on a Friday throwback when we're playing a bunch, and I'll throw in, like, A-ha, Take On Me, and I'm thinking, everybody knows this song. Kev's like, is this a new song? Did Tony just add this thing? What is that song?

01:59:35 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:59:38 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 5:

That would be a good one for somebody to sample.

01:59:39 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 4:

That is a good song. Somebody needs to remake that.

01:59:42 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 5:

All right.

01:59:42 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 4:

All right. What do you got in the Dirty on the 30s, Shannon?

01:59:46 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 5:

So, Kev, a story about your girl I'm going to start with. They were in Aspen together a couple of weeks ago, trying to pretend they weren't together. But, I mean, she's got a house there. I guess he has a huge house there. But something's going on. So, while we are all in.

02:00:00 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 3:

the edge of our seats or at least i am to learn anything and everything about what's going on between kevin costner and jennifer lopez the internet is realizing that somebody called this years ago and that somebody is j-lo's ex-husband ben affleck so if re we re yeah if we rewind here we go back to march of 2023 he made an appearance on some podcast that doesn't even matter but During his appearance on the podcast, he mentioned that his wife was obsessed with Yellowstone. She could not stop watching Yellowstone. And then he actually reiterated that in a follow-up interview with People Magazine. And I quote, and again, this is Ben Affleck. I'm kind of disturbed by the fact that my wife likes Yellowstone so much. He also said she has never hidden her love for Kevin Costner's film Horizon American Saga. And so people are like, he knew, he knew that she had this thing for him when they were married. And now that they're both finding themselves single, it's on.

02:01:12 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 5:

I blame, I blame Diddy. Ever since Diddy, she ain't never went black. Really? I don't even know if I got a shot anymore. She was like sparkling rumors of her and Drake, but like never really confirmed. But I blame Diddy.

02:01:25 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 3:

I can see her. I can see her.

02:01:27 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 4:

No, I'll be honest. Kevin Costner in Yellow... You watch Yellowstone? Oh, he is. Kevin Costner in The Bodyguard and in Yellowstone as a man would be who I would want to be. Like, I would want to be one of those two roles that he had because the guy in Yellowstone was just a badass, you know?

02:01:45 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

For what it's worth, since his divorce, he has said he is, like, really not interested in dating at all or moving on, whatever, but... Okay. Yeah. Speaking of dating, did you see who Olivia Wilde is dating following her split from Harry Stiles? I don't know how to pronounce this guy's name. Apparently, he was like a big basketball, a big professional basketball player. Dane Delegro. D-I-L-I-E-G-R-O.

02:02:11 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 4:

Hold on.

02:02:11 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 3:

I don't think he was NBA, though. I think he was like Italy, Israel. He had like a... I thought he was an actor, too. Yeah, he had like some YouTube series. He was in American Horror Story, Guardians of the Galaxy, Sweet Home. Okay, I guess he was nobody. Anyway, she moved in. I guess he was nobody. Never mind. Did he play? Never mind. And I keep seeing pictures of them together. And I don't know. I wish I knew everybody in Hollywood and politicians and athletes. I don't. So I'm like, oh, somebody big. He looks like Penn Bagley.

02:02:37 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 4:

A little bit.

02:02:37 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's interesting. Yeah, a little bit he does.

02:02:40 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 4:

Interesting.

02:02:41 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 5:

Mojo, if you follow New Hampshire basketball.

02:02:45 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 4:

He played for New Hampshire? Yeah, then you know. I didn't even know New Hampshire had a basketball team. Although, you know what? I probably picked him to win round one, upsetting a one seed as a 16 seed. Yeah.

02:02:56 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 3:

Selena Gomez trending this morning for sharing and then deleting an Instagram story in which she is just sobbing over all of the deportations that have been happening since President Donald Trump's inauguration.

02:03:09 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 6:

Only people are getting attacked. The children. They don't understand. I'm so sorry. I wish I could do something, but I can't. I don't know what to do. I'll try everything.

02:03:30 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 3:

Somebody, and I don't know who told her to take it down, because then she added another post to her Instagram story that just said apparently it's not okay to show empathy for people.

02:03:39 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 4:

She was getting a lot of backlash because this is the week that the Lake and Riley law is going to go into effect or the bill is going to be signed. And people were saying, hey, you never sobbed and cried when Lake and Riley and others were murdered by, you know, violent criminals. And so that's what I think made her take it down. I think that that was why she decided she was going to not have it up there anymore.

02:04:04 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, the border czar Tom Homan was on Fox News yesterday reacting to Selena's post. And he says, no apologies.

02:04:14 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 2:

She posted a video sobbing. She was crying in it. She said, all my people are getting attacked. What do you say to those who are out there saying that these are everyday people, these are families that are being attacked and dragged out of their homes? How do you respond to that?

02:04:29 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't think we arrested any families. We've arrested public safety threats and national security threats, bottom line. Once we lock that border on continuous operation, you're going to see fentanyl, death decrease, illegal alien crime decrease, sex trafficking decrease. It's just all for the good of this nation, and we're going to keep going. No apologies. We're moving forward.

02:04:46 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, do you guys know that Snoop Dogg has lost more than half a million followers on Instagram and nearly 25,000 on X after his appearance at the Crypto Ball, one of the balls that was tied to Donald Trump's inauguration?

02:05:00 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 2:

And not the only one. Did you see what happened to Kim Kardashian? Very, very similar. She posted a photo of Melania Trump's outfit from the inauguration instantly. I'm talking within like a couple of hours, lost 150,000 followers on her Instagram after she did that.

02:05:16 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 3:

That's interesting. That's I guess it shows that people sometimes, you know, even though the person is the president and the first lady and stuff like that, that they just look at it like we don't want to support him at all.

02:05:29 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 4:

The reason why I say I'm not surprised about Snoop is, and yes, people can change their mind. Obviously, you have the right to do that. But Snoop is literally on video cussing out artists for performing for Donald Trump. Calling him names.

02:05:42 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 3:

The first time that he was.

02:05:44 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 4:

Like, if you do this, you, you know, blank, blank, blank. Can't really say it because it's racial epithets. But there are people. If he turned around, he performed a whole set.

02:05:51 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 3:

But there are people, though, like Stephen A. Smith, who said he voted for, you know, Kamala Harris. And he said now, he said, you know, this is the guy that I call my president.

02:06:03 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 1:

I was so shocked that he came out and said he voted for him. Yeah, but I think that was more about acknowledging losses and conceding elections than it is support.

02:06:10 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, Stephen A. Smith said it because he said he likes the person that actually says this is what I'm running for and starts doing them. And he said that this week when he said that he was in two days, he actually started, you know, holding to his campaign promises. I, um, I, did you see the, uh, Melania Trump picture, her portrait that just came out? Yes.

02:06:30 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 2:

Very, very businessy. She's like standing over a table.

02:06:34 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 3:

That is a beautiful woman. And I got to tell you something, whether you like her husband or don't like her husband, that is a good looking woman.

02:06:40 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 4:

Selma Hayek did this in that movie. This is the Selma Hayek picture. What movie? The boss, I want to say it was called.

02:06:47 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 3:

She actually did the same photo.

02:06:49 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she looks like a boss in this photo. It's like literally the photo from, like, the promo. I'm a photo. Yeah. Oh boy, Kev. Here we go again.

02:06:56 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Is this Brooke?

02:07:21 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 5:

Yes. This is. How are you?

02:07:24 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 3:

Brooke, what are you doing?

02:07:27 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

I just got the kids off to school and turned on the radio and making my breakfast. I love this. And getting ready for work.

02:07:33 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 3:

What's for breakfast? Let me guess. Let me guess. Scrambled eggs. A little bit of toast and some cantaloupe.

02:07:42 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 5:

Cantaloupe. You got one of them right. Just some scrambled eggs.

02:07:46 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Well, you already told me that because you said you're done. Congratulations. We're setting you up with the tickets. Yeah, Brooke.

02:07:51 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Let's go see Justin Timberlake. I'm so excited. Thank you.

02:07:56 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 3:

Have the absolute best time. Justin Timberlake is going to be in February coming up here at Little Caesars Arena. There are tickets still available, I was told, so you can get your tickets. Ticketmaster.com for that.

02:08:10 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much. I'm so excited.

02:08:13 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 3:

Quick question. Have you ever heard the song Jack and Diane by John Mellencamp? You're so bothered by it. I can't believe that Kevin has never heard that song before. He just never crossed my spirit.

02:08:22 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm a little shocked that Kevin's never heard that song before. I heard it today.

02:08:26 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you think I could bring Kevin out to karaoke with me out in Waterford? You'll hear nothing but songs like that, Kevin.

02:08:33 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 4:

I got some Waterford songs in my bag if I need to perform.

02:08:36 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 3:

All right. What would be yours? What would be, do you have one that you could play?

02:08:38 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 4:

I'll probably start with a little Journey, Don't Stop Believing, just to get the crowd going. I love it. Then I'm going Creed. Can you take Creed? I'm playing Creed on Friday. That's really good. I'm in the pocket.

02:08:51 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm playing Creed Friday morning for the throwback songs. That's great.

02:08:54 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Give me some Kings of Leon. Are you somebody? Oh, my God. Give me some Foo Fighters. Let's go.

02:09:00 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're having too much fun. We'll be right back. Don't worry.

02:09:03 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Justin Timberlake, and I need more Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:07 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Am I the a-hole coming up here in just moments on the Mojo in the Morning show? A couple of stories I want to get to. Shannon broke this story, the story about the Detroit woman, a rapper, who was calling for a lift, and when she had the lift pull up in front of her house to give her a ride, the driver told her that she was too big to get into his car because he felt like she was too heavy to get into his car. by the way the attorney for her what was her name by the way you know i i hope i'm not saying it

02:09:52 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 2:

wrong it's dank de moss i believe is how you pronounce her name dank de moss how are we not

02:09:57 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

playing any of her music we should be playing

02:10:00 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

By all the local rappers here. Let's lift it up. Let's lift her up. Maybe this could be actually, you know, not only is she going to make a bajillion dollars from Lyft for a discriminatory case like this, which, by the way, Michigan has a law that we're one of the few states that has a law that talks about discriminatory behavior towards overweight people.

02:10:19 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 4:

Really? So, yeah.

02:10:20 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 1:

This is actually, hold on one second. Let me play this audio. Actually, let me get our attorney on and say hello, and then I'll play the audio for everybody while he's on the phone with us. uh john marco is the attorney what's up what's up john how you doing good morning what's up guys good morning good morning from the marco law firm by the way what a case man i gotta tell you i see i see dollar signs like crazy on this one john and well it's illegal i mean it's uh the only way

02:10:51 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 2:

we can enforce these laws is through money damage lawsuits whether you like it or not i mean it's illegal and the goal is so you make an example and it doesn't happen to anybody else john are

02:11:03 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 1:

we saying your client's name right are we uh getting everything well you're that's the artist's

02:11:09 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 2:

name her her her god-given name is deja blandy okay deja okay so let me play for the listeners

02:11:16 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 1:

that haven't heard this audio yet or seen this viral video which by the way posts up on on our instagram and facebook she calls for a lift to go to a family party from what i'm understanding right and right the lift is a mercedes that comes and picks her up it's a guy driving a mercedes so obviously you know guys got himself uh it wasn't an suv it was a one of their sedans and he pulls up and when he sees her walk out of the home he sees that uh and i don't want to call her you know overweight because i'm an over i'm an overweight guy but people would describe me as being a bigger guy she's a bigger woman okay and he says this to her

02:11:58 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 4:

wait a second you need to order a bigger car which by the way

02:12:18 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 1:

bigger cars ordered when you have multiple passengers or lots of passengers. You don't order bigger cars for a person's size.

02:12:25 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 3:

You think I can't sit in a car? Yeah, I'm sorry. What makes you think I can't sit in this car? Because the car is small in the back, baby. My best friend has a biz that's nowhere than it is that I can sit in. That's the same size.

02:12:38 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. To be more specific with you, I got very tired, tired.

02:12:43 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 1:

What did he say? He said that his tires were...

02:12:46 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 2:

Tired, tired. Yeah. He said something about his tires.

02:12:50 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

What I got to do with your tires?

02:12:53 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and you have no space.

02:12:55 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 3:

How do you know I don't have no space? Yeah, I got no space in the back. How do you know I don't have no space?

02:13:02 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 4:

Because I try people.

02:13:04 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't ever have to order an Uber XL.

02:13:09 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 1:

Unbelievable. Crazy, bro.

02:13:11 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Nope, nope.

02:13:11 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 1:

So, John, obviously you guys have done the whole press conference thing. Have you heard from Lyft at all? Have their representatives contacted your client to apologize for this?

02:13:24 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 2:

No, we haven't heard anything from Lyft. They haven't contacted us. They did send some type of Instagram message to my client and asked her to contact them. Obviously, we told her not to do that. We'll talk to them. We're waiting to hear from them and would love to hear their explanation. What about an apology from the driver? Yeah. Nothing. We haven't heard any apology from the driver. We have his first name because, you know, on these Lyft apps, it doesn't show the whole person's name, but we have the driver's first name. So we're going to be able to identify him once we get the records from Lyft. That's good.

02:13:59 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Because I'd love to know what this driver's record is with Lyft. Like, how long has this man been a Lyft driver to do something like he did? Because, I mean, obviously Lyft has to be responsible for who represents them, no doubt. but this guy sounds like this guy's, you know, got a, you know, not a very smart, not a very smart man.

02:14:22 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Like there's not a very good representative of the company.

02:14:25 - 02:14:32 | Speaker 1:

How much money are we suing for? I hope it's like $28 billion. What kind of money are we suing? What are we suing for?

02:14:32 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

That's not up to me. It's up to a jury of Wayne County. You know, but we need that. Lyft is a multi-billion dollar company. It needs to be enough money that it'll deter them and maybe make some policy changes. You know, weight discrimination actually is legal in most states. Michigan and New York are, I think, the two states where it is illegal. But in a lot of states, it's perfectly legal to discriminate against people and fat shame them.

02:15:00 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 4:

And hopefully that's something that comes out of this case. Every state, it should be illegal to body shame individuals. It shouldn't be legal anywhere.

02:15:06 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know how it's legal. To me, it's amazing.

02:15:10 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 5:

John, I don't know if there was any kind of relationship that you had with your client, but when you had a chance for the very first time to talk to her about this, how is she doing? How is she holding up with this whole thing? Because she handled herself great in that audio.

02:15:26 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 2:

yeah i mean she's she's upset i mean but and she's uh just feels sad about it you know and and i mean we're lucky in this situation that she was just going to another uh friend's party i mean imagine if if it was cold outside and she was stranded or a car broke down or you know she was outside of a bar at three in the morning or or she was in a bad area i mean it could have endangered her life and the real sad thing is this stuff happens more than you think you know we've had a lot of cases where we'll have people with disabilities who are blind and have seeing eye dogs and the lift will not allow them in with a dog and we'll drive away and leaving a blind person on the side of the road. So, I mean, that's why we have these laws and, you know, in a way she's lucky that, you know, she didn't get hurt. But, but something's got to change and it's illegal what they did. That's right.

02:16:23 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 5:

Man.

02:16:23 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 1:

um which by the way we we talk about lifts and ubers all the time and you'll see like six people pile into an uber and nobody ever goes oh wow that's a weight limit but as soon as you see a big person you're like well i think it's fine that she didn't get allowed into the car like it's so crazy how we treat people who are overweight in such a discriminatory way on a regular basis that My heart breaks for her.

02:16:49 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and listen, this also I'm sure happens for people's skin color, and I'm sure this happens for people's, you know, we've always heard discrimination in many, many different cases where people are discriminatory towards a person, maybe even honestly how they smell, I mean, for God's sakes. But this is something, if you are the person that is offering up the services, you've got to be willing to supply the services. And what you just brought up is something I didn't even think about when this was going on. What if this was middle of the night, she's coming out of a club or wherever, and it's a safety issue? Thank God that she wasn't in one of those situations. John, Marco, we're going to keep on top of this case. And will you do us a favor? I know that Lydia's got some information from you. Will you let us know as soon as you hear that Lyft is actually given any kind of a comment on this? Yeah, I would love an update.

02:17:46 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Absolutely. And I will keep you guys and your listeners informed, and hopefully we'll make some good changes here and make sure that everybody has equal right to transportation here in Michigan.

02:17:56 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, buddy. I appreciate you so much. Take care of yourself. Thank you, guys. Wow. What a crazy story. I mean, that's just insane.

02:18:05 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 4:

That's the thing. It sucks, but it takes something as egregious as this man's actions to create change. And often that's what creates change. It's something horrific that has to take place. But somebody's sacrifice, hopefully, will provide everybody else the ability to live a happier life. Yeah. And she need to get paid. I want to hear her music.

02:18:26 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 5:

Tell John, by the way, let's get some of her. She's got an Instagram. Does she? I want to know what, you know, what are her aspirations? Is that going to be her, like, full-time thing? Like, now, do you take this? Because sometimes you take this to the next level. It's like, you know what I mean? Like, you're obviously probably going to make a little bit of money off of this thing. But then this also could spotlight her talents that she has.

02:18:49 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:19:05 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 5:

Am I an a-hole for saying this? Tell me if you think. Maybe I shouldn't even say it

02:19:10 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah please do I love this

02:19:11 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 5:

Am I an a-hole for saying I wish that was me That that happened to

02:19:15 - 02:19:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh hell no I wish it was me too

02:19:16 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 5:

I wish that I was

02:19:18 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 1:

No you don't

02:19:19 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 5:

Megan No when it happens to you It will affect you For the rest of your life I get it But I But people having called me fat Over the years Has never affected me And I know it probably Could be different for her So I'm not judging But I'm saying You know how much money You can make off of that Right Like she's gonna make Some money on it

02:19:38 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 4:

People don't call you fat for free but that's you know what i'm saying and now it's a company boy and i'll be great on the stand oh my god i'd be i would be crying people have called me names for free i got marco on the line let's go i wonder if he's an attorney doesn't want to laugh. She doesn't want to laugh because Megan gets upset by this. But honestly, it's truth though. I, I, as a guy who has been fat my whole life and has had people that I know wouldn't even look at me because of my, my weight, I would tell you this, if I could make a $10

02:20:17 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 5:

million payment or something like that. No, the reason I wasn't laughing by the way, is because I was just thinking this literally just happened to me yesterday, totally different situation but i was walking behind somebody who wasn't paying attention backing out of a parking space i'm like i kind of wish they would have just tapped me because i could have sued them

02:20:33 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 4:

i know i know why why can i not slip and fall i want to i want to be careful now now i'm going to slip and fall they're gonna think i did it on purpose what did you just say about this guy

02:20:45 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 5:

this attorney by the way because jessica dupe neck does do a story i'm going back to her with

02:20:50 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 4:

i think he specializes in these uh discriminatory cases yeah they sit in his office and it is like

02:20:55 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 5:

aligned with you know yeah the all the awards for all i think i think all these we got a lot

02:21:00 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 4:

of attorneys in this area they're very good attorneys but i think that i've i know i've heard of the the marco law firm before so they're a good firm um all right it's uh mojo in the morning it is time now for am i the a-hole if you worry if you are doing something that could be considered a-hole-ish we will get you on the radio with us the way that you do this Go to Channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app, our Detroit radio station. Look for the talkback mic. Send us a talkback with whatever it is that we can help you with. Here's the today's.

02:21:35 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 1:

I'm the a-hole for telling my boss about a secret my coworker told me that almost got me fired.

02:21:46 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 4:

Am I an a-hole for telling her boss a secret that a coworker told me? I want to know more about this. uh sabrina are you there yeah hi how are you sabrina will you tell us more or it would it get you into trouble if you did um i i feel okay telling you okay so what what was the secret that

02:22:12 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 2:

the co-worker told you um okay so my co-worker told me in confidence that basically she had been adding on more sales than she actually made um just so that she could get uh she could get more on her bonus and it was really unfair like she she told me and that's fine um but it's it's unfair because we're all of us are you know making our equal share um she told us basically that she does it because she has a sick kid and you know so she's scamming the system a little

02:22:57 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 4:

bit and how is she scamming again tell me give me more details is it illegal is it immoral what is

02:23:03 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

it no so basically it's kind of it's kind of like a commission thing like okay each each sale that you make um for like every 20 sales you get a bonus on top okay so so she's been adding like an extra five here five there she's been faking sales to her twin exactly and she's doing it to

02:23:30 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 4:

collect money right now because she said that she has a sick child yes and i'm not sure what the

02:23:37 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 2:

i'm not sure what it like is going on with them but he's i mean they've been going in and out of the hospital she said like okay all right so so here's the question we're not going to delve

02:23:50 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 4:

into it any deeper because we don't get you in trouble but is sabrina an a-hole for for telling

02:23:56 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 2:

her boss you already told your boss yeah i had to i mean that's not okay so is she an a-hole for

02:24:04 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 4:

telling her boss about this or should she allowed this co-worker to continue to falsify things uh because you know and listen if she didn't have a sick kid yes would that change your mind it would change my mind so okay so are you thinking that she's is she an a-hole for telling

02:24:24 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 5:

the boss this is such a freaking hard one to me because you did the right thing i don't think you're an a-hole it's not the thing that i would have done though i honestly think i wouldn't have said anything because of the sick kid like that just like really plays with my head a ton even though i know what she's doing is wrong i guess i would just i don't know i don't think i would

02:24:45 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 3:

have said anything i'm not saying nothing this is none of my business even though it just seemed like you mad that's where i'm getting from if if but it is wrong what she's doing is wrong yeah but i'm not the police like y'all gotta figure it out she literally said in her Thank you.

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 2:

message to us that she almost got fired for it so when it affects you are you going to say something

02:25:04 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 4:

how did she almost get fired from sabrina what happened what happened you almost got fired for

02:25:10 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 1:

for your co-workers lies yeah like our boss went back and was checking everybody's um was checking everybody's sales and they found the discrepancy so they were blaming you for them exactly oh

02:25:26 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so here you go, Kev. Now you don't care about the kid anymore, do you? F them babies, right, Megan?

02:25:33 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm not going down for somebody else. I am absolutely not going down for somebody else.

02:25:38 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 4:

Thanks. You look out for yourself. What about my babies?

02:25:42 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 6:

I have bills. Have you seen this job market? People try to get a job for a year out here in these streets. Like, absolutely not.

02:25:49 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mark, do you think that she's an a-hole?

02:25:53 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 7:

She is, Mojo. Good morning, everybody. She knows that lady. This lady, she had a sick kid. She can just go straight to that lady and tell her, hey, you've got to stop doing this. I know your situation. Oh, that's interesting. But you've got to have to stop doing this.

02:26:08 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying that she shouldn't have gone to the bosses with it. She should have gone to the co-worker and made the co-worker fess up herself.

02:26:13 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because, Mojo, you know, you've often, you know, that lady, she's going to get fired.

02:26:19 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, you're right. Your phone line, by the way, is driving me crazy. I'm sorry. Jonathan, what do you think? Is she an a-hole?

02:26:25 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 2:

uh no she uncovered criminal activity that is that's embezzling and fraud that's snitch

02:26:33 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 4:

that's bad kevin megan and whoever else agrees shannon these guys are illegal people i want i heart to understand that these guys you're siding with criminals you didn't listen to me all you

02:26:47 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 6:

guys care about is screwing companies you know megan said she would have told i said i wouldn't

02:26:53 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 4:

have told i said i'm not losing my job for anybody else jonathan you heard no these people are bad people that i work with every single day wait what what you didn't haven't said what you would have done stop lumping me it was what would i do i'd tell on her and i'd get the kid taken away

02:27:09 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 6:

i'm actually making it worse i'll raise it one child screwing with my brain And if you took the child out of it.

02:27:20 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 4:

I want this child taken away from this kid.

02:27:22 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 6:

Like, put me in the middle of what he thinks I said and what he said. And then how bad do I feel saying, like, how sick is this child? Is it the flu or is it, like, something bad? Because that also determines my answer.

02:27:34 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 4:

My answer depends on if Bob Pittman's listening to the station. Bob, I just want you to know this. Our great boss here. Bob, if it was me, I'd turn the bastards in. Dwight, what's up, Dwight? How you doing?

02:27:45 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 8:

hey first time long time hey so i think it's crazy that she said she would get fired if she told anybody right yeah and then she proceeds to call y'all tell the whole world like do you even care about her job in the first place but she already told

02:28:07 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 4:

she already told her boss yeah but now she's telling everybody on the radio so it's too late

02:28:12 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 8:

She told her in confidence.

02:28:15 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Dwight, that might be the greatest.

02:28:16 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 8:

So she got herself fired, potentially.

02:28:18 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Dwight, that is, by the way, that might be the greatest comment I've ever heard, Dwight. That was amazing. Faith, what's up? Hi.

02:28:25 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I'm calling to say that I think she is wrong. Like, I wouldn't have snitched on my coworker. Okay. I feel like it just causes more trouble for everybody else in the office.

02:28:38 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 4:

Question, if the coworker didn't have the sick kid, would you have snitched?

02:28:43 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 5:

No, I just, I still wouldn't.

02:28:46 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 4:

I just mind my own business. And what company do you work for?

02:28:49 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

And it's not really affecting me.

02:28:49 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so now your boss comes to you and says, hey, you're at fault if you don't tell me what happened. Do you fall on that sword? No, I don't know what's going on.

02:28:59 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:29:00 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 6:

Okay, now I found the emails that prove you knew this happened. You're fired.

02:29:06 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 5:

Well, did she say it in the email or say it in person? Oh, my God.

02:29:09 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 4:

I like this.

02:29:11 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 6:

You're fired just for not answering the question. I'm going to tell you all my secrets.

02:29:14 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 4:

Dorian, you say we got a rat on the phone here?

02:29:19 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 9:

No, you cannot rat your friends out, regardless of money. Where I grew up, you cannot rat your friends out.

02:29:25 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 2:

She didn't say she was her friend, though. Yeah. She said she was a co-worker. And you've been working with her.

02:29:30 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 9:

She was close enough to confide in her that she was doing it, but she had to feel close.

02:29:35 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 6:

There are people I cannot stand that tell me their wildest secrets. I'm not getting fired and then having an eviction on my record or a car repossession on my record because you couldn't handle your stuff.

02:29:49 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I get to agree, didn't it?

02:29:54 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 6:

But then when you got rolled out with those bags, that hurt.

02:29:59 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm learning. I'm learning, by the way, I'm learning that a lot of our listeners from looking at these text lines here are people that if your companies knew what your answers were to this one, they'd probably fire you guys right now.

02:30:09 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 1:

Because a lot of people wouldn't say anything.

02:30:10 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 4:

A lot of people said they wouldn't say anything.

02:30:12 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, though, if you took the sick child out of the equation, it would be very different.

02:30:15 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 4:

Then we're telling them, yeah.

02:30:17 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 2:

02:30:48 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, online.

02:30:50 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 4:

MojoInTheMorning.com. Mojo in the Morning Show. I was watching K.P.'s story last night, and one of the girls on The Bachelor you went to school with?

02:31:05 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes, so I went to college with Miss Parisa, who is on the season's Bachelor, which is so cool. Isn't she? Is she from Birmingham? Yeah, she is. She is probably one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen.

02:31:18 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 4:

You call her Miss?

02:31:19 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 2:

No, her name is Parisa. I just said Miss Parisa.

02:31:21 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 4:

Miss Parisa. I was going to say, that's kind of cool, man. That's kind of like badass as a beautiful young woman like she is to sit there and go, Miss Parisa. Shifte? Do you see her, Kev?

02:31:35 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 3:

Is this her right here? Parisa Marie? Oh, yeah. That's her.

02:31:37 - 02:31:38 | Unknown:

All right.

02:31:38 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 4:

She's very attractive. How cool? Was it weird for you to watch her? Like, first off, the guy in this. Look at the bachelor. I know, right?

02:31:46 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's the thing that I thought was so strange. Like, we got a watch party together of our sorority sisters because she was a part of my sorority. We didn't have the same class, so I never got to be in the actual active sorority with her, but we're both alumni now, and so we all got together to watch her on the first episode, and it was kind of weird to see someone we know on The Bachelor. I mean, celebrity status. We were watching her Instagram followers. She started at 9,000, and she went up to 12,000 by the time her little appearance happened.

02:32:18 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 4:

From being on there. Yeah, she's got 12,000, 12.3.

02:32:22 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So it's climbing. It's crazy to see someone that you know or that you went to school with get so big.

02:32:28 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 4:

I had this happen to me.

02:32:30 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 2:

For real?

02:32:30 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. One of my actually really good buddies since grade school was one of the, was the, I think the first apprentice on that Donald Trump apprentice. For real? Bill Rancic.

02:32:41 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it weird?

02:32:42 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:32:42 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 2:

It's like a weird feeling. It's like, is this real?

02:32:44 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 4:

And the wildest part was that he then took it to like the next level and then got a celebrity wife. He ended up marrying that Juliana Rancic who was on E! News Daily and stuff. See, that's how you do it. So this girl, so Parisa, which she's local and stuff. Does she still live here or no? Because I'm looking at her Instagram and it looks like she's spending a lot of time in other places.

02:33:07 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think from what I see on her social media, it looks like she travels and does a lot of things. But I don't know if she's living here. It says she's from Birmingham.

02:33:14 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, look at you, by the way. You're famous, too. Come on, KP. KP, first off, you have more followers than she does. You got 19.9 thousand Instagram followers. You got millions on TikTok. That's famous.

02:33:28 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, I feel like my friends also think it's weird to hear me on the radio, too. So it's like that same idea, seeing someone on TV and then hearing somebody on a radio station they've listened to their whole life. I kind of had a situation like this.

02:33:40 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 3:

I was leaving. I forgot where I was leaving. But I was hungry, and I went to McDonald's. And the person who took my order was this girl I went to high school with. And I was so happy to see her because I'm like, throw some old fries in the back. Was she not nice to you when you were gone? Everybody was cool. And she threw me the extra fries. Celebrity.

02:34:02 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I thought you were like happy that she had to work at McDonald's or something.

02:34:06 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 3:

I was geeked.

02:34:06 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

You were geeked that she was McDonald's and you got a personal connection.

02:34:09 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 3:

And she had the late night shit.

02:34:10 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's great. I'm always surprised What people do that I grew up with Like we had one guy Mike Gacious Who is the manager of the Macy's Men's department by my house And I saw him when I went home For Christmas holiday And I'm like I never would have thought that And then there's a couple other people Like John Chang I've talked about before He's like one of the biggest plastic surgeons Down in Miami I knew he was going to be famous one day Because he just had that thing to him He was like smart He went to, like, Northwestern. And then there were a couple of people, like Mark Wood, who's dead, unfortunately. But he was the guy that was kind of like the rebel guy, and he ended up, I think, dying, you know, from drugs.

02:34:56 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, I had a friend who lived back in, when I lived in Tampa. who had someone she went to high school with become a killer. Like, literally, she found out that they became a serial, not a serial killer, but they had been accused of murdering people. Wow. It's like, you don't know who you go to school with and what they're going to do, what they're going to become. Be nice. Yeah, be nice to everybody.

02:35:18 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 3:

If you have a friend, Shannon, if you have a friend that could be like Parisa on The Bachelor or a friend that could have been a story on Dateline NBC with Keith Morrison.

02:35:30 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 6:

I know you would prefer.

02:35:32 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:35:33 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I want a friend on date. Yeah, for sure.

02:35:37 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. With KP having gone to school with this girl that's on The Bachelor, how about you? Did you have anybody that you went to school with, and what did they end up doing that turned out to be something kind of interesting? I mean, throw out anything that we just did as an example. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. is a telephone number. Do you think we'll get an interview with her or like if she becomes the girl? Maybe.

02:36:04 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 6:

They can't do anything while the show is like currently on.

02:36:08 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 3:

Or while it was taped.

02:36:09 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 6:

I feel like, well, no, it's done taping now, but.

02:36:12 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 3:

Tell her that we were talking about her and also tell, I mean, listen, we're rooting for her. We'll root for her on that. Yeah. There's so many people that go locally that go on these different shows.

02:36:25 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 1:

I had a friend go on one of these competition shows, got super drunk and told me how they finished. Oh, really?

02:36:31 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 3:

Did you keep it a secret?

02:36:32 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 2:

I did keep it a secret, but it was wild. Well, it's the same thing that happened to Taylor Hale. She was Miss Michigan USA, and then she went on Big Brother and won the whole dang thing. Wow. It's crazy how you could just get on these shows and do this stuff.

02:36:47 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 3:

Is Taylor Hale related to Jen Hale, the sports?

02:36:52 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It's probably a common last name.

02:36:53 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 3:

Simon? No, because I think Jen comes here all the time. She comes to town, And so I wondered if there were any relation. Jenny, are you there? Listener Jenny?

02:37:00 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm here.

02:37:01 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

02:37:02 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's happening?

02:37:03 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 3:

We're talking about people you went to school with and them turning to be something.

02:37:09 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. So in my graduating class of 2002, I won't say the high school, but we have three murderers. Damn! Say the high school. Say the high school.

02:37:20 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 3:

That's great. What high school is this?

02:37:23 - 02:37:29 | Speaker 5:

I'll say it. South Lyon High School. And to all my South Lion people out there, they know who they are.

02:37:29 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, shout out to the murderers. That's their mascot name. The South Lion murderers.

02:37:36 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it's crazy, too. Some of them are just wild stories. You can look them up.

02:37:40 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. God, I don't know. I'd say I love that, but that's kind of a cool first call. What's up, Lori? How you doing?

02:37:49 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 6:

Hi. How are you?

02:37:50 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 3:

Good, Lori. you cannot top the girl that just called up Jenny who said that she went to school with three murderers, but you have a cool one too.

02:37:59 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I went to school with Kristen Kish, and she was the America's Next Top Chef, I think the 10th

02:38:07 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

season. Okay. Whenever you say that, and I should know it, I feel bad.

02:38:11 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

I know, I'm going, who is that?

02:38:13 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 3:

Really? You went to school with Kristen Schiff?

02:38:17 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 6:

Don't worry, he can't get our names right. We went to East Kentwood. oh okay that's where all my cousins what did she win with a quiche or what did she win with i don't even know i don't remember that but i know that she got voted off um and then they did like a comeback round where the people who got voted off had to compete against like the next person who got voted off and if they made it all the way to the top they they went to the end and got to compete with the last two contestants and then she ended up winning the whole thing. That's cool. That's very cool.

02:38:52 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 3:

I got a texter here that says, I went to Divine Child with Aiden Hutchinson. That's a cool one. That's a good one. Will is on with us. Will, this is a good one. Now back to the murderers. Will, what's up, Will?

02:39:06 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? First time caller. Hey! Yeah, so I got a sister. She's on Dateline 2020 and also has a killer couple show.

02:39:21 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 3:

Wait, like she hosts it?

02:39:24 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 4:

No, she's got two episodes that are about her and her husband.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Lordy. Did she do it or was she?

02:39:33 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, she did it. Her husband, they lived in Texas, and her husband was the chief of police of a little town in Texas, and her baby daddy lived in New York and he ended up taking the kids from her while him and her plotted the murder and went up there and murdered him and her and his girlfriend at the time. That's amazing.

02:39:58 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 3:

That's unreal. Wow. Man, she got a Dateline, a 2020, and was on a show called Killer Couples. The dream. The trifecta. That's amazing. Well, thank you for the call. What's it like having that in your genetics?

02:40:12 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's bad. You know, I don't like the fact that she was a murderer, but, I mean, she did what she had to do for her kids, I guess. But at the end of the day, you know, it took the dad from the kids and the mom. So now the kids are being raised by grandparents.

02:40:27 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever, in a moment of rage, like if you're getting cut off in traffic, do you ever, in a moment of rage, go, I could probably kill somebody?

02:40:35 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's happened a couple times on the truck driver. Oh, my God. Duh. Lord.

02:40:42 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 6:

Because you know that it's going to be a family affair.

02:40:46 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 4:

Me and my baby mama, you know, if we get in an argument or something like that, she'll bring it up. She'll be like, you ain't going to kill me like your sister did. Oh, my God.

02:40:56 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 3:

dog oh my god oh my god you might be the call of my life right now if this radio show doesn't win

02:41:57 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 5:

That's the only one I know. I'm not going to say her real name.

02:42:02 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

02:42:03 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 5:

Say her real name. It's on the Google. No, hey, this is for a first time, long time. Hey. No, you got to tell her.

02:42:11 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:43:14 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on What's Trending and the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning.

02:43:19 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Are you as invested in this Blake Lively, Justin Bell, do anything as I am or not so much? Okay.

02:43:22 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 3:

No, honestly, I was bummed when you told me earlier this morning, and I know you're going to do this story right now, but I was bummed when you said that the court date wasn't for another year.

02:43:31 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 2:

March 9th, 2026. Biggie day. I don't think it's going to make it that far. And if it does, it will be a spectacle a la Amber Heard and Johnny Depp for sure. um but at this point that's that's what the judge said the court date is the judge is filing also confirmed a pre-trial conference that's set for february 3rd of this year so next week essentially and that's only to discuss blake's request blake and ryan reynolds request for a gag order to be placed on justin baldoni's lawyer for the remainder of their legal proceedings uh i don't know how far they're gonna get with that to be honest but also dropping yesterday justin baldoni sent blake lively at some point during filming for it ends with us a seven minute voice memo it was sent around two in the morning and it was all related to the the movie's famous rooftop scene that we've heard so much about which he said in his lawsuit that blake completely rewrote after he agreed to let her pitch some changes the audio message and i'm only going to play you like two very short clips from it but they referenced Justin rereading the scene at a meeting at Blake and Ryan's apartment Ryan and their best buddy Taylor Swift was present at and you're going to hear him apologize for his lukewarm reception to her changes I for sure fell short and you worked

02:44:55 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 5:

really hard on that and and the way you framed it and

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

and uh and how that made you feel and i just want to say thank you for sharing that with me

02:45:06 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 5:

he tells blake that he will admit and apologize when he fails always and he feels like he did here he also notes that he is far from perfect and tells her i am a very flawed man as my wife

02:45:18 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 1:

will attest they're two of the most creative people on the planet um the three of you guys together it's unbelievable talk about energy just to force all three of you but i just wanted you to know that i didn't need that because it's really good and it's gonna make the movie sing

02:45:34 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 5:

like you said i'm so invested in this i wish i could play the wall all seven minutes but who

02:45:38 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 1:

is he talking about when he says the three of you taylor swift lake and ryan reynolds

02:45:43 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 5:

yeah uh billy ray cyrus seemingly addressed his son trace cyrus's concerns public concerns for him amid this drama that is happening within their family. Trace writing a couple of days ago that all of the kids were genuinely worried about their dad following his performance at President Trump's inauguration. So Billy Ray wrote yesterday in the caption of a YouTube short, praying for my family, for my children, sons and daughters, and their mother. He didn't directly name anybody in the family, but he did express his desire to move forward, and he wrote let this moment be the start of healing for us all the past does not equal the

02:46:29 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 2:

future amen sometimes i always find it interesting i didn't say this when we were on the air the last couple of mornings because i was down in tampa and it's tough sometimes to hear i'm a little bit undelayed there but um i always find it interesting when somebody is celebrity like this when they go to the press with their comments on it are you talking about his son his son yeah like i like Like, I feel like is he doing it just because he's trying to help his dad or is he doing it because he wants to embarrass his father, who obviously has somewhat of a it sounds like.

02:47:01 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 5:

So I think I think it's the first I think that they and and maybe I'm naive, but I think that the family has exhausted every option of trying to get him help. And this was last resort.

02:47:11 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 2:

Like, I think, like, if this were my kids and I, you know, was having issues with my kids, I'd hope my kids wouldn't go to another radio station and say, hey, let me talk about my dad, you know, who's a problem and stuff like that. I would hope that they would just keep it.

02:47:25 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 5:

I would like to believe that Trace loves his dad so much that he's willing to sacrifice his relationship with him to get him help. But again, call me naive. I don't know. Reese Witherspoon sharing that she was once voted to be the foreman on a jury after she portrayed Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Oh, really? This is kind of funny. It's from her appearance on The Graham Norton Show this week.

02:47:49 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 4:

Love y'all. This is really upsetting. I definitely did not go to law school. I didn't finish college. Like, I played a lawyer in a movie once, but they fully made me the foreman. And I started realizing people don't know much about the law.

02:48:04 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 5:

Kind of funny.

02:48:05 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 4:

And, Kev, are we still doing Warped Tour together?

02:48:08 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 5:

Lydia wants to go. Are they coming here? You said you wanted to go. Megan, you want to go? I don't know. Who's performing? Okay, so the first wave of artists for the Vans Warped Tour 2025 have been announced. Among them, do you guys remember Bowling for Soup? Heck yeah.

02:48:22 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Bowling for Soup. Are you kidding me? Bowling for Soup. What happened to her plan? She was going to be an actress. She was going to be a star. She was going to shake her ass on the hood of Whitesnake's car. Her yellow SUV is now the enemy. Looks at her average flight. And nothing has been. Did they update this song? They had another song.

02:48:46 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what'd you say?

02:48:47 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 3:

Did somebody update this song?

02:48:50 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't, yeah, there wasn't there. Oh, yes. Yeah, they did a version of modern stuff. Yes.

02:48:55 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 5:

Are we thinking of another song? I don't know. With 19, 19, had to hear it. 1985. Along with one of my other favorites, Simple Plan. Here we go. Yes.

02:49:06 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Simple Plan.

02:49:08 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we'll be in town. But if you are ever one of the kids getting dirty at Warped Tour when it came back today, ready to feel old, it's the 30th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour this year, part of the reason they're bringing it back. It is only coming to three cities over three weekends. But alongside Simple Plan and Bowling Fursuit, Pennywise, Miss May I, Dance Hall Crashers, Chandler Layton, there are going to be dozens and dozens of names announced over the next couple of days. They said full lineup will be revealed in the next 30 days.

02:49:41 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 2:

What's the work tour like? What's it like? It's like a festival.

02:49:45 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 5:

It's a music festival, yeah.

02:49:46 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 2:

A bunch of guys in skinny jeans.

02:49:48 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Don't go anywhere. War of the Roses is next. It's killing a little Melvin deal. You know this song, but you don't know Jack and Diane. It's killing Jack and Diane. I'm still so mad.

Get more dirt at Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:50:20 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. This War of the Roses is an interesting one because the thoughts of him cheating all stem back from the holidays and actually pre-holidays like Thanksgiving time when she noticed that his ex was messaging him. They got engaged over the holidays, but now she's thinking that her fiancé is cheating. It's the War of the Roses.

02:50:45 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:51 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 1:

Brittany, why do you think your fiancé is cheating on you?

02:50:54 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 6:

uh he has like a tattoo of his mom's name but it's also his ex's name and uh he always told me like oh it's like a weird coincidence and we would like laugh about it in the beginning of our relationship uh but then i just like recently saw that he had like a facebook request from that same ex on thanksgiving and i don't know it got me weirded out and i thought she was still kind of like hanging around and um we've been just like fighting more like we got engaged recently and yeah it just we've been having a lot of stress like wedding planning and stuff and And I don't know, I'm just freaking out, thinking that he's...

02:51:44 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 1:

Do you believe that his ex is, that tattoo is for his ex or that tattoo is for his mom?

02:51:53 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I mean, I can't really say, really, because it still kind of weirds me out. But he would always joke about it. So I never, in the beginning of our relationship, I never, like, thought anything of it.

02:52:09 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 1:

I know what kind of a tattoo is it is it is it a tattoo with roses and thorns and things like that like like what like how did what does the tattoo look like is it something that you would get for

02:52:20 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 6:

your mom well actually it's funny it does have roses on it well that could also be yeah yeah

02:52:30 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 1:

so I can't really I mean besides the fact that he's dated a girl that has the same name as his mom which honestly would be kind of weird uh i mean but and then he gets a tattoo and you wonder if the tattoo is actually that of something to you know be nice to his mom do you ever ask his mom about the tattoo no i feel weird doing that so you've never in in all the time that you guys been in a relationship and you guys are engaged you never said to his mom is that tattoo for you or that tattoo for his ex?

02:53:04 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 6:

No, I haven't. No, I just, I don't know.

02:53:07 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 5:

I feel kind of weird asking about that. You don't even need to say it that way, though. You just say, like, how does it feel that your son got a tattoo for, like, in tribute to you? That's beautiful. And if she looks at you like a deer in headlights, you know that tattoo was not for her.

02:53:22 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 6:

That's true. That's a good way to do it, actually.

02:53:27 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 1:

I always find it interesting that we'll ask anything in the world but not the most specific question we possibly should be asking, which is, is that tattoo something that I should be concerned about?

02:53:38 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 4:

But at the same time, a tattoo of an ex does not explicitly mean that he's cheating. It could have just been a poor decision.

02:53:44 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 1:

Right. No, I get it. But now she's back in their life, which could be another poor decision. That's fair.

02:53:51 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think a part of me doesn't want to know, you know, but it's that tattoo.

02:53:56 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 5:

You have to.

02:53:57 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 1:

We're going to have Shannon call, offer him a dozen free roses, see where he's going to send the flowers to. We're hoping that he sends them to you. Mute your phone so that we don't hear anybody else on the line.

02:54:10 - 02:54:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:54:11 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 1:

And we hope that the flowers go to Brittany.

02:56:34 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 3:

relationship

02:56:37 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 1:

yep it just I have to do it I have to click this button it just helps us categorize like whether we're supposed to you know offer you romantic arrangements or if this is your sister

02:56:48 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 3:

02:56:56 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 1:

okay and nick we also offer something unique at rosesbloom.com in lieu of a paper card we record a digital voice memo and that will be texted to in this case nadia when the flowers get delivered to her. So we're going to go ahead and record that right now. Okay. All right. Okay. I'm going to count you down. Three, two, one. Uh, from Nick. Okay. Got it. Yep. I got it. Um, and Nick, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training

02:57:34 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 2:

purposes are you okay with that uh yeah that's okay and nick i need to also just inform you of one last thing before we lose you okay and then we'll send those flowers off okay uh nick i need to inform you that this is actually the mojo in the morning show and that your fiance britney is on the phone with us right now?

02:58:01 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 3:

I don't even... I don't think I... It's really hard to believe that you just send those to your mom.

02:58:08 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 2:

Like, like... Oh, I don't... Brittany, you think that there's something wrong with that?

02:58:15 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 3:

I just, like, you just gave her on holidays. Now, out of nowhere, you just... I don't

02:58:22 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 2:

know. Nick, this is the Mojo in the morning show. and Brittany wanted to see who you were going to send a dozen free roses to. Okay, and I sent them to my mom. Right, I understand that, but I also know that she's just worried about you and... She's worried about me? Well, she was just worried about what's going on in your relationship, but I find nothing wrong with you sending those to your mom.

02:58:50 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 3:

Are you still talking to your ex? What?

02:58:54 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 2:

Nick.

02:58:54 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 3:

You didn't get it? you didn't get a facebook message a facebook message i i don't know what you're talking about so why why are you lying right now like on thanksgiving you didn't get a facebook message from your ex i have no idea what you're talking about if you saw a facebook message on there

02:59:14 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 2:

then you're the only one who saw it so real real quick because i need to let him know more about us calling and make sure he's okay with this nick britney called us up because she was worried that something was going on and so she asked us to call you up and you did just send the flowers to your mom but that was the problem is that the the person that she's worried that you're possibly with is somebody that you had a relationship with that also has the same name as your

02:59:43 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

mom. Why do you know all this information? Because of Brittany told us this. It hasn't been an issue until recently and she thinks I'm cheating. That's her.

03:00:00 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 4:

own thing i'm i'm not it's my own thing so so you haven't been speaking to her right like you

03:00:05 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 6:

haven't had a conversation with her on facebook but britney he just sent flowers to his mom and

03:00:11 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 4:

just gave his mom's phone number to us don't i don't i really don't believe him i don't believe Do you think, Brittany, maybe you're trying to find problems here?

03:00:40 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 1:

Like, do you have cold feet about the wedding? Because it didn't come off like he was being inauthentic.

03:00:47 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 6:

Or did he know it was us? People are sending us messages saying that they feel like he knew it was us.

03:00:56 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't be surprised, actually. Like, I wouldn't be surprised.

03:00:59 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 6:

All right, hang on one second.

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 5:

Call Mojo in the morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

03:01:28 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning. Just heard the War of the Roses. And the tattoo of Nadia. Who is the Nadia? Allison, what are your thoughts on this one?

03:01:41 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, first of all, no one, a man, does not get his mother's first name tattooed on him just alone like that and second i i just knew from jump i felt like he knew was what was going on or he knew that this was like a ploy or

03:01:55 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 6:

something i don't believe it it's it's interesting because we were having that discussion about getting a tattoo for your mom you would probably tattoo it mom right you or you wouldn't like to

03:02:06 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 3:

you know what i mean i know somebody who got something around well i have my mother's name on me but that i'm a woman a man like you would get something that would be significantly like you know this is my mom like it would be specifically tattooed my mom this is my mom's name this is her tattoo and just from the conversation the way he was just so like

03:02:30 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 6:

nonchalant yeah i i don't know it just it is her name and the roses and all the rest of that stuff Yeah, no. All right, thank you for the call, Allison. I appreciate you. What's up, Chloe? How you doing?

03:02:44 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 5:

Good. How are you? Good morning.

03:02:45 - 03:02:46 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

03:02:46 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 5:

First time blog time. Yay! Yay! Okay, so I have a comment on Brittany.

03:02:54 - 03:02:54 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:02:55 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 5:

She sounds super insecure. Like, if this has not been an issue until recently, then homegirl does not need to be getting married. I'm sorry.

03:03:02 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 6:

But Chloe...

03:03:03 - 03:03:05 | Speaker 5:

I've been through the whole insecure thing.

03:03:05 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 6:

What about the ex-messaging him? What about that?

03:03:11 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I forgot about that. Well, did he ever say that he saw it?

03:03:14 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 6:

He said he didn't see it. Yeah. Come on.

03:03:17 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, okay. Then I guess that's a little different then. But why didn't she bring it up before this to him about the ex-messaging him?

03:03:26 - 03:03:35 | Speaker 6:

Well, I think she was kind of holding off a little bit, and she was waiting until she could get more information, And then she just never got enough good information to put it out of her mind.

03:03:35 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 1:

I am always so blown away when there is something like that that happens. And I'll say, like, well, did you ask? And the answer, I would ask within 30 seconds.

03:03:44 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 6:

Amber, what's your question?

03:03:47 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm just curious if the phone number that he gave y'all is his mom's number or if it's the other girl's number.

03:03:54 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so here's the deal with that. The number is mom's number. But the problem, though, with that is a lot of people, including all of us, when we were going through listening to the audio of that, thought that he might have changed in thinking that we were on the phone, thinking that it was us and it was the War of the Roses. And that's why he then gave his mom.

03:04:18 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, like he already knew, like he switched up.

03:04:20 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because he seemed like he kind of, and I don't know if maybe it was issues with his phone or not, but it seemed kind of weird. Like, and that's the problem with having dating somebody that has the same name as your mom, you know, where you can go either way.

03:04:36 - 03:04:38 | Speaker 3:

That sucks. I hope Brittany figures it out.

03:04:38 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, either way, this is not going to be a good situation in that relationship. If you're accusing him of cheating this early on, what's up back? Hi.

03:04:46 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I thought it was interesting that you guys mentioned the similarity between the names, both having the name Nadia and then catching that maybe there, there might've been something going on and it being fishy. but why doesn't she know the...

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 4:

mom's name that like what if the mom's name's not nadia no she knows she knows mom's name's

03:05:07 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 3:

nadia but she knows that but she doesn't believe it she doesn't believe that that's the tattoo that's but she's never said anything she's never asked the mom hey you know why would he tattoo your name on on your body or what do you think about this like that's never come up in conversation

03:05:21 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 4:

yeah that's interesting i don't know i think uh i'm a big communication person so i think that there's a lot lacking here regardless so there should be some type of pause going on in the relationship to figure out that going forward in my opinion i would actually have that conversation

03:05:37 - 03:05:44 | Speaker 3:

with his mom you know about this what's up dustin how you doing good yourself i'm doing okay what's

03:05:44 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 5:

going on buddy good um i actually thought it was kind of weird that he said from nate and not from your son um and i also think that you know it doesn't long stem red roses i don't know i i think the long stem red roses to your mom i don't know is it a little much you know maybe some like different flowers but not but not interestingly enough can i tell you

03:06:13 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 3:

something when when i started war of the roses years ago the whole idea stemmed from a survey that was done and you remember the old magazine Cosmo magazine is that even still around there was an article in Cosmo magazine that said if a man were offered a dozen free roses who would they send them to and a majority of the guys said they would send them to their mom so I don't necessarily think sending roses to your mom is a bad thing roses mean love and you can still love your mom it's not like love like love in your mom you know it's not like you're a mother not like you're a mother effer you know what I mean

03:06:47 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 6:

it's only weird when you think about it

03:06:49 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:06:49 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 6:

Like, when you just grab your mom some flowers, it really don't matter what they are outside of her favorite flower. They're just flowers from your mom.

03:06:56 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Laura? Hi.

03:06:59 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I just thought the way that he said the name in the beginning didn't – I know they have the same name. I know. The mom and the ex.

03:07:06 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 3:

That's what I felt.

03:07:07 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 1:

It's just saying Nadia.

03:07:08 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 3:

He's like, Nadia.

03:07:09 - 03:07:14 | Speaker 1:

Like, I don't say Margie if I'm talking about my mom. It just sounded –

03:07:14 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 3:

Listen back to the podcast. Zach, podcast up. Listen to the podcast of that How he said the name And the name saying Sounds not like I would say My mother's name Like I would say my mom's name was Pat It was Patricia I would say yeah send it to Patricia I wouldn't say send it to Patricia I wouldn't sound like Jason Baldoni

03:07:38 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 4:

At 2 in the morning

03:07:40 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 3:

Up on the rooftop Patricia I don't do the sexy voice

03:07:45 - 03:07:52 | Speaker 2:

As somebody who calls their parent by their first name, I say it anyway. That fits the mood of my attitude while addressing it.

03:07:52 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 3:

Let me hear you say Scott Mick in a sexy and non-sexy way. Oh, I'll say it. It's sexy. Scott Mick. Stop.

03:07:58 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Stop. Shannon Murphy, it's inappropriate the way you talk about my father. And your husband and I are going to fight about this later. But I think there is a difference between sometimes I'm like, ooh, like Scott Mick. And then like Scott Mick. Like I think if you call somebody by their first name, you can say it different ways.

03:08:15 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 3:

Haley, what's up?

03:08:18 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 8:

Hi. I was just, I noticed when Shannon was, you know, asking him for the number, he kind of paused for a little bit. And to me, I would, I mean, I know my parents' numbers by heart. So that was the first thing that kind of threw a red flag.

03:08:31 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 3:

So that pause, you think, do you think that pause was him deciding which Nadia he was giving it to?

03:08:38 - 03:08:41 | Speaker 8:

Or maybe just like looking it up, like the rosesbloom.com thing.

03:08:42 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I wonder too. I wonder if he knew it was us. What's up, Joe?

03:08:48 - 03:08:58 | Speaker 7:

Yes, hi. Good morning. First time along. Hey, Joe. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. What up, Joe? I was telling you to make a comment about that. Yes.

03:08:58 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 3:

People get so excited.

03:08:59 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 7:

I think the name Nadia, I think that is his ex. I don't think it's mom. I have a tattoo on me that says mom, not my mom's name on me.

03:09:08 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Where do you have that tattoo, Joe?

03:09:11 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 7:

On my arm.

03:09:13 - 03:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah. So right there. That's a smart move.

03:09:15 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 6:

Are you close to the palm or bicep?

03:09:18 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 2:

I think I'm more freaked out that people think getting names are weirder than getting mom versus who the flowers are going to. Like, to me, getting somebody's name is not that big of a deal compared to the word mom. People seem to have a bigger problem with that.

03:09:31 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 3:

I think that there's a lot to read into this. And I do think that it will require listening back to the podcast because I think you've got to listen to how he said the name. And I really do think that there's something big to that. And then also giving out the phone number. So it's definitely a, I would listen back to the podcast to see what your thoughts are.

03:12:36 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 2:

Aw. Birthday? Her work day, I think. Did you say work day or birthday?

03:12:41 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 1:

birthday but my birthday is in april april what i'm an april baby the 28th i'm a tourist okay

03:12:50 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 2:

shout out to you congratulations to both of you guys for having birthdays that's right in april it is uh it is good to have a birthday i just want you to know that because if because because without a birthday you're dead right yeah people should have birthdays that's right they just don't celebrate yeah they don't have they don't have the the fun kind of birthdays they don't blow out any cakes i don't think on their birthdays uh all right well hang hang on the phone for one second and we'll get some information from you okay thank you all right don't go anywhere i was just reading this you know it's like i was thinking yeah do i do trending news i'm like it's really not a you know we chanted covered everything in the dirties it was a good dirty day so i don't think we got it and then i saw this one story i just wanted to bring this up real quick and then we can either get to another topic or just end the show um this is just shows you how horrible this world is eight in ten men think ai could replace their real girlfriends oh hell no did you see yesterday there was a big story that came out the stock market uh really took a tumble and a lot of the the Cryptocurrency took a tumble because China has developed, I guess, like some ultimate AI. I don't know that stuff very well. Like I just put AI on my phone. I got it on the new iPhone.

03:14:15 - 03:14:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm scared to do that.

03:14:16 - 03:14:30 | Speaker 2:

I can't figure the goddamn thing out. I still can't figure it. I don't know how to do it. Like I still won't change my font on my text to a bigger font, even though I can't read half my text messages because I refuse to be old. Like I refuse to be a 54-year-old guy.

03:14:30 - 03:14:32 | Speaker 1:

And that does scream old.

03:14:32 - 03:14:52 | Speaker 2:

But this, for instance, like I look at what's going on in this world right now with everybody doing nothing but, you know, app dating. Nobody goes out and meets anybody anymore. Now, eight in ten men think AI could replace their girlfriends.

03:14:54 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Wait, how?

03:14:56 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Men are already, according to this story, are ready to.

03:15:00 - 03:15:23 | Speaker 3:

embrace cyber intimacy revolution 2 000 men in this study 8 and 10 believe ai girlfriends could fully replace human companionship 78 of respondents said that they they date an ai clone of their ex oh my god so if i made an ai clone i could make like one of chelsea like if i but there's no

03:15:23 - 03:15:25 | Speaker 4:

physical being

03:15:25 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 3:

to be with. Chelsea might actually be approving this. Like, if I made an AI, like, would that be weird? Yes. Can I call her and ask her? All of this

03:15:35 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 2:

is gonna take place, though. I'm telling you, watch this movie with, uh, what's my man from Die Hard? Bruce Willis called Surrogates. I'm telling you. It's coming.

03:15:44 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 3:

It had to be a long time ago they filmed

03:15:45 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 4:

that thing. Are they talking about, like, a full-on robot? Are they talking about, like... I don't know. Communication.

03:15:52 - 03:16:02 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. That's where 78% of respondents said they would date an AI clone of their ex while 80% expressed interest in chatting with an AI clone. Chels.

03:16:03 - 03:16:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:16:04 - 03:16:29 | Speaker 3:

I found the perfect thing for our relationship. Are you ready? I'm not asking you for a threesome. I'm not asking you to do a swap and do, you know, stuff like that. But what I'm saying is eight in ten men think that AI could replace their real girlfriends or wives. I could have a computerized version of you.

03:16:30 - 03:16:31 | Speaker 1:

Perfect.

03:16:33 - 03:16:46 | Speaker 3:

What do you think this would be? Actually, this would be kind of nice. Think about this. It's not like I'm cheating on you. I'm actually with somebody that is you. It's just not you. But we would have to reprogram it.

03:16:46 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's why.

03:16:47 - 03:16:48 | Speaker 3:

What were you going to say?

03:16:50 - 03:16:51 | Speaker 1:

Why do you have to reprogram it?

03:16:51 - 03:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, not that I would want it to. I would want it to be a little bit more, like, sexual. Like, I would want it to actually want to do. A little? A little. No, I would want it. But here's the deal. I would want it to be just as clean as you are because you're very clean, and I do love that. I love that, you know. Although she's very anal retentive about making sure that everything is spotless, you know. and picked up and all that stuff. I still have the Christmas tree up. I promised you I'm taking that Christmas tree down this week.

03:17:21 - 03:17:22 | Speaker 4:

Is it so long?

03:17:22 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 3:

I finally unplugged it last night. I finally stopped keeping the lights on.

03:17:29 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I would at least keep it plugged in, but okay.

03:17:32 - 03:17:32 | Speaker 3:

All right, three and four.

03:17:32 - 03:17:33 | Speaker 1:

So when did this happen?

03:17:34 - 03:17:48 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Three and four. Maybe I don't know if they have this at Cirilla's. Three and four participants said that they're open to having an AI clone of themselves as a virtual companion. Wait, they would want to have themselves be AI, too?

03:17:48 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 2:

That's a little too freaky. I don't.

03:17:51 - 03:17:52 | Speaker 4:

That's kind of weird.

03:17:53 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 3:

That would be weird. Like, I don't want to lay next to me.

03:17:55 - 03:18:05 | Speaker 4:

No, that is weird. But have you ever been, like, thinking of a joke to yourself and you're like, nobody else would understand this except for another version of me? Yes. Or am I the only weirdo? Yes. Okay.

03:18:05 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 3:

No, this is kind of, hold on, saying Frank's on with us right now. Frank, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing, buddy? Good. But since you're the porn king, you can go on. They have AI porn sites. You can put whatever face you want on.

03:18:18 - 03:18:24 | Speaker 4:

That is not okay. By the way. That is not okay. Hey, Frank, don't call me the porn king.

03:18:25 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 3:

I've got my wife on the phone. I've dabbled in a little bit of porn every now and again, but I haven't been on porn in a while there, Frankie. What do you mean? Every other day you're talking about it. I don't talk about porn like I'm watching it all the time. I just know a little bit about it. I actually read it. I read porn. Okay, you saw a little bit on TV, right? That's right, exactly. Hey, Frank, say hi to Chelsea. Hi, Chelsea. Better watch out for that guy. Wait, why do you got to say that, Frank? I'm going to make an AI version of myself and hang up on you now. Anaya is on with us. What's up, Anaya? How are you doing? It's Mojo in the Morning.

03:19:08 - 03:19:22 | Speaker 1:

Hey, something tells me this survey came after that subservience movie came out on Netflix where Megan Fox plays an AI robot where the husband like cheats on his wife. Oh, really?

03:19:22 - 03:19:26 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard of that movie. You know what this reminds me of? Did any of you guys watch Westworld?

03:19:27 - 03:19:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Ex Mahina. Okay.

03:19:29 - 03:19:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:19:29 - 03:19:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I just think this is...

03:19:31 - 03:19:32 | Speaker 2:

It's a great watch.

03:19:32 - 03:20:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, Kevin's already looking it up right now. Adding to the watch list. I think this is the problem. Like, I still don't get it why everybody does dating on apps. I know that that's how everybody meets these days. That's always the thing I'm saying. That's how we all meet these days. But I feel like if you went out of the house and went to wherever, you'd meet somebody and you'd find out that actually there are are people that will have conversation with you unless we've turned everybody into dummies and

03:20:06 - 03:20:28 | Speaker 5:

now it's all about this ai crap i don't know why that is but i also think too we are always complaining about lack of communication skills of potential you know just a boyfriend girlfriend whatever yeah because like nobody does any of that anymore like yeah we're all holed up in our

03:20:28 - 03:20:44 | Speaker 4:

houses and yeah i think also that becomes normal for people who do like to talk to people in public i think the other person is so conditioned to not talk to someone uh-huh that they respond in a way that makes you like okay well i guess i can never mind people in public yeah right i'm trying to be

03:20:44 - 03:20:57 | Speaker 3:

that is kind of true yeah um chelsea would you ever do an ai version of me probably not come on there are some good things though at least you know that i'm there right

03:20:57 - 03:21:01 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, but yeah, you know, once you've been there, you don't really need to go back.

03:21:03 - 03:21:04 | Speaker 3:

Who would you, AI?

03:21:04 - 03:21:18 | Speaker 7:

We had this conversation the other day, like women are better alone than men. And I think I've probably reached that point in my life. If anything were to happen to us or you, I'm good alone.

03:21:18 - 03:22:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We talked about living separate together on the latest version of our podcast, which is like a big thing right now. And actually, friends of ours have been doing this for years. They have two separate homes, and they live in two separate homes. And I thought when they first did it, I was like, that's crazy. You guys are nuts. Your relationship will never last. These guys are living happily as ever. But they date each other way more than any married couples that I know that live in the same house. Matter of fact, I found that people who live in the same house find out that they want to be in separate rooms because they need to have a little bit of separation. where, in this case, they start right off their first bat from this. That podcast, by the way, is up on the We Don't podcast, which is on iHeartRadio. Just search We Don't. Hold on. Erica wants to make another comment here. Erica, remember, my wife's on the phone. Be nice.

03:22:11 - 03:22:21 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I am. But, Mojo, every day you find a way to bring porn into the conversation. Every day. Somebody will call and say, yeah, so how's your sex life? And it's like, Mojo.

03:22:22 - 03:22:27 | Speaker 3:

Erica, in every day, Kevin tries to bring Jesus into conversations. We don't sit there and judge.

03:22:27 - 03:22:31 | Speaker 6:

As he should. As he should. Thanks, Kevin. As he should. We don't judge.

03:22:31 - 03:22:33 | Speaker 3:

Say hi to Chelsea, will you, Erica?

03:22:33 - 03:22:38 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Chelsea. How are you? I'm good. How are you? I'll keep you in my prayers. I'll keep you in my prayers.

03:22:39 - 03:22:56 | Speaker 3:

Seriously. By the way, I'm offended. So I made a post yesterday. Yesterday was my day for KP to have me post, put a post. I put a post of Chelsea and I when we were away this weekend in Tampa. We got a chance to kind of just hang out together. and somebody made a comment and asked if that was my daughter.

03:22:57 - 03:22:58 | Unknown:

Stop.

03:22:59 - 03:23:00 | Speaker 4:

Crazy. Go Chelsea.

03:23:00 - 03:23:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Did you love that one or what?

03:23:04 - 03:23:13 | Speaker 7:

I did. I did. Actually, that was my alternate. That was me. Exactly. That was my AI.

03:23:13 - 03:23:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, God. All right. I'll talk to you later. I love you.

03:23:17 - 03:23:18 | Unknown:

All right. Bye.

03:23:18 - 03:23:21 | Speaker 3:

All right. Wait. I love you. I love you.

03:23:21 - 03:23:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, see, I called right back.

03:23:24 - 03:23:25 | Speaker 3:

She just hung up. Call right back.

03:23:26 - 03:23:27 | Speaker 5:

I called right back.

03:23:27 - 03:23:31 | Speaker 3:

All right, tell me you love me. Hold on a second. Hold on. Dialing her back up. That's crazy.

03:23:31 - 03:23:34 | Speaker 5:

You think I'm joking? I really do that to people all the time.

03:23:36 - 03:23:39 | Speaker 3:

You can't do that to me. That's crazy. Hold on a second. Don't do that.

03:23:40 - 03:23:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I tell you. And when they answer, I'm like, what if I get into it?

03:23:46 - 03:23:49 | Speaker 5:

Don't answer her all day today. Act like you're dead. All day.

03:23:49 - 03:23:56 | Speaker 3:

That would mean. Like, you can't leave me hanging like that. How dare she? Oh, here she goes.

03:23:58 - 03:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. Hey, I'll Chelsea would never.

03:24:01 - 03:24:05 | Speaker 1:

Hello? All right, tell me you love me. All right, tell me you love me.

03:24:06 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 3:

You didn't say I love you back.

03:24:09 - 03:24:10 | Speaker 7:

I didn't?

03:24:10 - 03:24:13 | Speaker 3:

No. We love you, too. Come on.

03:24:13 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 7:

You should just know that I do. Oh, I do.

03:24:17 - 03:24:20 | Speaker 3:

That is true, by the way. You do. I know you do. All right. I'll talk to you later.

03:24:20 - 03:24:23 | Speaker 7:
