This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:00:52 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 1:

My name is Neterica Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently, even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm their resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us. Ready to

00:01:37 - 00:01:44 | Speaker 4:

We'll be right back.

00:03:14 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Coming up in less than an hour from now, War of the Roses, a wife catches her husband cheating about a guy's night out that he was going on and where he was going. And the big dummy doesn't know that she gets all his Uber receipts. She can see exactly where and when he was going places. And this morning, he sends flowers to another woman. Wait till you hear who. Coming up after 7-ish, like after the 5 at 6.55, we'll do that. We got a lot of good stuff to get to this morning. We will have a ton, a ton of prizes to give away, including your chance to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA. That is this hour in a trip to Florida next hour. And we'll have updates throughout the morning on that tragic plane crash. The first plane crash, a commercial airlines crash in the United States since like the mid- I think it was 2009. Yeah. Was that Buffalo? It's amazing. Do you know what's amazing? There's like all the flights that we have every single day. and that this has been the longest period of no crashes that we've had in the tragedy of it, the fact that it was a commercial airlines flight, one of those regional jets from American Airlines that had less than 100 people on it that got crashed into by a Black Hawk military helicopter that was doing a military...

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 6:

training exercise and the craziest thing is i'm seeing this on the news and i'm hearing all this stuff and obviously i'm sifting through all the stories i don't know why my conspiracy head always

00:05:10 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 3:

goes to the craziness you know what i mean i immediately went who's on the flight log that i would you know i mean that's seriously who was coming into dc maybe movies are getting

00:05:18 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 6:

me or something's getting me but yeah same same situation uh shannon with an update on that uh coming up here in less than 15 minutes so we'll have that unless actually you know what can i play on news update? I'll play and I know you'll have the update. Let me just play so if anybody doesn't know what we're talking about, you don't go away from us. It happened just after 845 last

00:05:37 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 9:

night. An explosion in the Washington, D.C. sky as a military helicopter and a passenger jet

00:05:42 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 8:

collided midair. Crash, crash, crash. This is Alert 3. Crash, crash, crash. A live stream from an

00:05:47 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 9:

Earthcam webcam capturing the moment of impact. A fireball lighting up the sky. Authorities say an Army Black Hawk helicopter in a regional American Airlines plane with 64 people on board

00:05:58 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 5:

crashed into each other. The water that we're operating in is about eight feet deep. There is wind, there is pieces of ice out there, so it's just dangerous and hard to work in. The jet,

00:06:10 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 9:

an inbound flight from Wichita, Kansas, was on final approach to Reagan Airport with 60 passengers and four crew members. Officials say three Army soldiers were on board the Black Hawk. The explosion sending what was left of both aircrafts plunging into the Potomac River. Ari Schulman was driving home when he looked up and saw the plane falling from the sky.

00:06:29 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 8:

It was illuminated bright yellow underneath, and there was a spray of sparks on the underside of the plane. And I knew something was wrong because it was very, very close to the ground. It was maybe 80 or 100 feet above the ground, banked all the way to the right.

00:06:45 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 9:

Hundreds of emergency personnel rushing to the scene. authorities scrambling boats and divers, hoping to pull any possible survivors out of the frigid

00:06:53 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

Potomac. It was insanity. Police trucks, ambulances, commands, vehicles. The water

00:07:02 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 9:

temperature, life-threatening, with the river only just starting to thaw after being frozen for weeks. It's the first major commercial plane crash in the U.S. since 2009, when 49 people were killed after a plane stalled while attempting to land in Buffalo, New York. Now an investigation is underway into how this crash happened. Experts say the runway the plane was approaching is rarely used and say the helicopter should not have been in the approaching area of an active runway. Officials say the helicopter, which took off from a Virginia Army base, was on a training flight. And there's this air traffic audio recorded just before the crash. Air traffic controllers are heard asking the Blackhawk pilot if he can see the jet.

00:07:48 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 7:

The pilot says he can. The helicopter says, yes, we see it. And the tower says, maintain visual separation from that regional jet. Tower said, fly behind that regional jet. And it didn't happen. Perhaps they picked a point of light or they picked an airplane that was not the regional jet. And they thought everything was fine.

00:08:09 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they're saying night vision goggles that they would wear to fly that helicopter are tough to decipher distance. They say especially around water because the Potomac is there. That was one of the theories. Also, that runway they say is rarely used. It's a runway that goes straight over the Pentagon or diagonal to the Pentagon, and they don't use it for safety purposes. But sometimes those smaller jets can land on that when they have a lot of excess travel. You know, we're going to hear more coming up throughout the morning. And I know you're going to have more on that coming up in just a little bit.

00:08:46 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

And you don't get to fly there. You don't get to train there. Well, if you don't have good visuals and there are civilians around, you don't get to train there.

00:08:54 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 6:

It's very odd that you would have a training exercise in such a busy airport like that in a busy, you know, the capital of the United States. I'm shocked that that's the case, but I don't know. We'll find out more. There's been so many near misses too. I mean, we've talked, how many times have we talked about planes that have, you know, come within, you know, hundreds of feet of crashing. And to put the perspective, 300 feet above the ground is when it crashed. That is landing gears out. We're about to touch ground.

00:09:28 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. We're actually going to hear from somebody. I'll play the clip in the dirty of a husband whose wife's on the plane and had just texted him, we're about to land.

00:09:36 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 6:

Jesus. All right. Yeah. Well, we will have more on that. And our seriously just concern over this and our hope that, I don't think they're going to find any survivors, but the hope that they can find something that will tell us why this happened. It's Mojo in the morning. Kev was thinking about getting a dog.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Come on. I'm thinking about, why?

00:10:00 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 4:

you say come on like that you can't get a dog why can't i get a dog you're never home crazy how are you that's a good point that's a good point you're not yeah that's a very good i can't i can't argue with that but i still need a companion so as a single guy who splits parenting time with my son josiah's mom jasmine um shout out to jasmine uh good person um i come home sometimes man and i'm lonely it's only so many led lights i can put up in the crib and only so many episodes i can watch of whatever show only so many chicken breasts i can fry in the air fryer before a guy wants some companionship so i'm thinking why not get a pet yeah and dog i feel like was the first pet that popped in my mind everybody on the show basically got something with four legs don't do it and i don't think that i will because it's freezing outside and i came home yesterday and i saw my neighbor in a full freaking north face from head to toe with the boots on and the scarf and the only reason she was outside is because she was making her dog use the bathroom and that did not seem like a good time it's a different ball game when you

00:11:01 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 1:

don't have a fenced in yard yes to just like let them outside and then let them right back in let

00:11:06 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 2:

me tell you moving from a house back to an apartment it sucks don't do it please it's like i love my dog i love my dog don't do it it is the worst it's two years of your life before you get normal again one year of no sleep and your dog ruins everything and you're so angry and you're You're like, why did I get it? It sucks. It really sucks.

00:11:26 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 5:

What about doing the KP route?

00:11:29 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, I have had no problems. I don't have to take my cat out. I have a litter robot, so it scoops it itself. He cuddles me at night. Just got to give him some toys. Bubba's okay.

00:11:40 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 2:

Literally, when you get a cat, it's 24 hours of here's your litter box, here's your food, and then you're good. With the dog, two years before you're normal again.

00:11:51 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

I do think you need something, though. Because I remember being in your position, being single and very lonely, talking about it on this radio show, in fact, and then getting like my dog, Charlie, who's still here. Thank goodness. My little my little rider died, the OG. But you need it did help me so much to come to be able to come home and have something that loved me.

00:12:16 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 5:

What what about it's true?

00:12:19 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 4:

You can't get a cat. Yeah, I'm not. Yeah, don't get a cat.

00:12:22 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 5:

Don't get a cat. Because if he gets a cat, he looks like a hypocrite because he's been making fun of you with yours. I just don't like cats, period.

00:12:28 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 3:

Kevin secretly likes my cat. I think you secretly like my cat. No.

00:12:32 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 5:

Your cat gives me scratchy eyes. What about we come up with, listeners come up with indoor pet for Kev? Like, what about a ferret?

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

Ew, those are so freaky. Anything mouse related, I'm not on that.

00:12:46 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 1:

It's not a mouse. It's like a furry snake. I love them. I got gerbils. Guinea pigs. Freak me the F out. Chinchillas are cool.

00:12:54 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Everybody is getting chickens these days. What about a chicken?

00:12:58 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 4:

The only chicken I'm eating in the air fryer, bro. That's the only chicken in my house. Get a chinchilla. Chinchilla. I'll wear one.

00:13:04 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they're super chill. My friend had a chinchilla for years. Chinchilla? They're so chill. They just cuddle up and they're so soft. That's not expensive.

00:13:11 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 5:

I think a chinchilla. Chinchilla fur.

00:13:15 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 4:

Look at this ugly thing.

00:13:16 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

Hell no. Here you go. Have you seen or ever heard of Holland Lop bunnies? They look fake. They're so cute. You can potty train them to pee-pee and poop in an area.

00:13:31 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 4:

This thing looks stupid.

00:13:33 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

No, I feel like it's second best to a dog.

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

The ears, though.

00:13:36 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, they're so cute.

00:13:38 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 5:

I want listeners throughout the morning to call up with whatever kind of fun house pet you have. And I want Kevin to get a house pet. People are calling in right now saying Kevin would look good with a gerbil.

00:13:49 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 4:

Look good with one. What do you do with a gerbil? I need something I can do something with. Hey, go to Lafayette Coney Island and grab a rat or two.

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Remy.

00:14:00 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Amy?

00:14:01 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

You don't catch yourself a Remy. Come on, Remy.

00:14:03 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. How are you? Good. What's going on?

00:14:05 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 5:

Kevin needs an animal.

00:14:07 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, Kev, you need a dog. They are just the best ever. They are a lot of work. I'm not going to lie. But they are the best companions. I got one for the same reason, and the way that my dog has helped with my anxiety and just always keeps me company, it's just the best thing ever.

00:14:24 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

But Kev is too busy, and once he starts dating again, he's going to have to find a way to get home to let the dog... Yeah. No, I don't think that's a good idea.

00:14:33 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 4:

Is there a such thing as an indoor dog?

00:14:35 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 5:

There are. Yeah, babies. Their dogs have pee on PP pads and stuff like that.

00:14:40 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 6:

What's wrong with that?

00:14:40 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Cheryl? Hi.

00:14:43 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I think you should get a reptile.

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 5:

Okay, what car? An alligator.

00:14:48 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, well, I actually had one of those. You did? Oh, my God. Yeah. Well, my daughter and myself, we rescue a lot of reptiles. So, we have, like, lots of reptiles. I have 11 snakes, and they're kind of cool to watch. Oh, my God.

00:15:06 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 4:

I will say this, though. Like, bearded dragons and, you know, little lizards. Like, watching, and this is where, you know, this is how a Criminal Minds episode begins. But when they used to feed the snakes, like, mice, I thought that was kind of cool to look at.

00:15:23 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

I would love, by the way, for you feeding a boa constrictor and that thing grab onto your arm and never let go. What's up, Fisher? You've got one that's more manageable for Kevin. What should he get?

00:15:38 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 5:

I think that Kevin should get, like, a bunny. They're, like, they're cute. That's what I said. They're fluffy.

00:15:42 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 4:

What do you do with a bunny, bro? You can play with them. Your guy friends will make fun of them. You said all you want to do is cuddle. How do you play with a bunny?

00:15:49 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 5:

And, like, you can keep it in the cage so, like, when you're not at home, you know, it's not going to poop all over the house.

00:15:56 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 3:

That's a win. Kevin with a bunny.

00:15:58 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 5:

It's pretty manageable. It's cute. It's cuddly.

00:16:01 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Kevin's a manly guy. He can't do that.

00:16:03 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 4:

Do you have a bunny?

00:16:05 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 6:

Hey, it's 2025, man. No, I'm saying, do you? We can make bunnies manly. Do you own a bunny? That's what 2025 is all about. Bunnies are manly.

00:16:13 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 3:

Make bunnies manly. Do you have a bunny? Do you have a bunny? He's asking.

00:16:18 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 5:

I do not have a bunny.

00:16:19 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 3:

No, of course you don't.

00:16:20 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 5:

So where are you getting all this knowledge from? My girlfriend had a bunny when she was growing up, and it was pretty cool. I mean, I wouldn't get one personally, but Kevin, it looks good on you.

00:16:33 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 6:

I mean, from the outside looking in, if I ever had to get an animal, it's funny, it would probably be close to the top of the list. Top of the list.

00:16:40 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right, keep them coming. Keep them coming. I want to know what Kevin should get. What kind of an animal should Kevin get?

00:16:46 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:51 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 3:

00:17:00 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 1:

No one is beyond making mistakes. One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was with this big crocodile right here.

00:17:10 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

The Pursuit of Happiness with Will Smith was the big movie in this year.

00:18:31 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 1:

00:18:40 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 3:

yeah pursuit of happiness with will smith don't ever let somebody was the big movie

00:18:45 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 2:

You can't do something.

00:18:46 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 3:

Will and his son. What time? You got a dream? I think I'm playing that song before the War of the Roses. So I got a Will Smith, Big Sean, new song coming up. Go get it. Your bird can give you a kiss. Oh, I'm not Mike Tyson. Can't call you. Now, get in the parrot and teach him certain words and sayings does sound quite attractive.

00:20:13 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 3:

00:20:13 - 00:20:16 | Speaker 4:

They live there like 30 years. They're the most rehomed pet birds.

00:20:17 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 3:

00:20:32 - 00:20:38 | Speaker 3:

00:21:04 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 1:

They smell so, so, so, so bad. My stepdaughter had one.

00:21:08 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 4:

Only if you don't bathe them. Okay. They're nocturnal, and they're perfect for his life.

00:21:14 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Josiah has been begging for one for years because of Sonic, so.

00:21:18 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:22:24 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 3:

Shannon's going to give us an update right now on the tragic plane crash that happened last night. Shannon, what's up?

00:22:29 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so the details this morning, an American Airlines plane with 60 passengers and four crew members aboard collided with an Army helicopter while trying to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C.

00:22:43 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 2:

4-72 Washington Tower, 1-star, 3-2-3, 1-7.

00:22:47 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 1:

now we're trying to get updates all morning as of three o'clock this morning 19 bodies had been pulled from the potomac river dozens more are feared dead the helicopter had three soldiers on board this is dc fire and ems team john donnelly this evening at 848 um an alert was

00:23:10 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 2:

sound, initiating a large regional response to a report of an aircraft crash on approach to the airport. This response includes first in Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority's Fire Department, the District of Columbia Fire Department, the Metropolitan Police Department, and the U.S. Park Police to respond into the area and to sort that out. At 8.58, the first units arrived on the scene and found an aircraft in the water and began rescue operations. This incident has grown. There's currently about 300 responders working. We have U.S. Coast Guard's got some boats in the water as well. So it's a highly complex operation. The conditions out there are extremely rough for the responders. It's cold. They're dealing with relatively windy conditions. Wind is hard out on the river. So they're out there working. We're keeping doing everything we can to keep them safe.

00:24:11 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 1:

I know you said it. Who is that guy? What's his? He is the DC Fire and EMS Chief. So when are we going to hear from the military? I don't know. I don't know. Now, some more details for you. The FAA said the flight had departed from Wichita, Kansas and collided with that military Blackhawk helicopter on approach to the runway. This is just three miles south of the White House and the Capitol, so you can kind of get an idea of how close everything is right there. One of the passenger's husbands was interviewed overnight, and this just broke my heart.

00:24:47 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, hold on. I don't have that clip. It is passenger?

00:24:50 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:24:51 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm just praying that somebody's pulling her out of the river right now as we speak. That's all. I can pray for her. I'm just praying to God.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

When was the last time you spoke with her?

00:25:00 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 2:

She texted me that they were landing in 20 minutes. Landing in 20 minutes, the rest of my text did not get delivered. That's when I realized something might be up.

00:25:13 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 3:

We'll have updates for you throughout the morning. I know that there were several members of the U.S. figure skating team on that flight because the competition had just happened in Kansas. So I'll give you some more details on that in the next hour's service.

00:25:26 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 4:

And that plane, the direct flight that they had from Wichita to D.C., it's only been around for like less than a year. And I heard the congressperson that represents that area say he was the one that lobbied so much because there's a lot of people from Wichita that go back and forth to D.C. on a weekly basis. So it's a newer type flight. I think that this is going to end up being a Blackhawk pilot error, and they should not have been, obviously, in that area. But we'll see what's happening.

00:25:58 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Khloe Kardashian sharing some new details on her decision to allow her ex, Tristan Thompson, in the hospital room. And she gave birth to their first baby together, their daughter True, back in 2018. And if you remember, this was just, she gave birth literal days after she learned that he had been cheating on her.

00:26:17 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 6:

Tristan had an affair. It was public and I gave birth 48 hours later. And people were like, do you want him in the hospital room when you're giving birth? and it was my first baby, and I said, I do, and we're all going to pretend, because of course I had to have all my siblings in the room and my mom, and I said, we're going to all, it's going to be hard for you guys, but let's all act like this didn't happen, because my daughter's going to see this home footage one day, and I don't want her to ever see, to know, this was, I was

00:26:47 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 3:

thinking for my daughter True. Yeah, she said for her memories, I wanted her to know that her dad was in the room but she said once true arrived and the cameras turned off chloe immediately asked him to leave and listen to this crazy story a 25 year old woman is facing possible jail time after pleading guilty in the first ever cyber farting case oh what's that okay this is in the uk but still it's a first cyber farting she is accused of sending numerous videos of herself farting to her boyfriend's ex causing distress and anxiety riannon evans would pass gas by placing the camera on her booty and then farting um and then she would like show her face smiling at the camera the victim her name was debbie said this made her feel unsafe in her own home she's she has just been so distressed over this. It's caused anxiety. So the farter must now attend 15 therapy sessions, 60 days of alcohol abstinence monitoring, and she got slapped with a two-year restraining order. She is no longer allowed to harass the victim. And again, maybe going to jail.

00:28:03 - 00:28:08 | Speaker 4:

You get arrested for farting and sending those videos. Was she drunk? Is that why she has the alcohol?

00:28:08 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 3:

That must be part of it, I'm assuming.

00:28:10 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 4:

So Randy, you got to be drunk. You got alcohol first.

00:28:13 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 3:

00:29:28 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 4:

How far are you from the Reagan Airport? Would that be the airport that you would fly out of if you were going anywhere?

00:29:35 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 5:

So I can actually go out of three airports around my area. Reagan is actually one of them. It's probably like, I want to say, 45 minutes on a good day.

00:29:47 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 4:

And you're at Bethesda Hospital, so I know that we haven't had any survivors, man, which is so sad. But that would probably be one of the hospitals, wouldn't it, that they would take some people to if they were?

00:29:57 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:29:58 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Crazy.

00:30:00 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's it's I'm, you know, seriously praying that we possibly hear some good news coming out of this thing. And I hope that we don't get any of the people that are there doing search and rescue get hurt by doing this. So we'll keep you up to date on the crash that happened yesterday, last night, just before nine o'clock in D.C. of a commercial airlines flight crashing into a military Blackhawk helicopter. 00:33:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 1:

We'll see if they're difficult for her, okay? Question number one. I thought this was one of the tougher ones. The coach of the Kansas City Chiefs blew off allegations of favoritism shown towards his team during an appearance on the Pat McAfee show yesterday. Who is he? Three seconds. Are we talking about his name? Yes. Oh, Andy Reid? Say that again. Was it three seconds or no? Andy Reid? I think she got it. I think she got it, too. Yeah, one to one. Right at the buzzer, though. Uh, whoa. C-U-D-I. Yes. Four to two.

00:35:10 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 1:

And perfect score if you get this one right. Singer Sam Hunt was arrested for speeding and tampering with his interlock device. What is an interlock device?

00:35:18 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Like you have to blow into it before you start driving.

00:35:20 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, is that what it is? Oh, he has one. That's what it's called. Yeah, years after getting his DUI. What kind of music does Sam Hunt do?

00:35:27 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 3:

00:36:48 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 1:

Tiff thinks that her husband is cheating and you actually think that you caught him in some lies. Can you give us like an example of one of the lies that maybe you caught him in?

00:37:01 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, he lied about where he was at. Instead of being at a club with his friends, he was at some house. How do you know that he lied? Well, I get receipts from Uber sent to my email.

00:37:14 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 1:

And the receipts showed that he was going to a bar and he wasn't where he said he was supposed to be? Where did he say he was supposed to be?

00:37:25 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 3:

He said he was at a pub with his friends, but the receipt said that he took a ride from the pub to a house. And you don't know that house? No, I don't know the house. And when I asked him about it, he said that his friends, like, decided to go watch the game at someone's house.

00:37:50 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 1:

But do you not know, you don't believe that what he said to you? You don't think that he's being honest with you? Right. Why do you think he lied?

00:38:00 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, because, like, I asked one of his friends, and they said no, they were at the pub all night.

00:38:07 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 1:

So they said that.

00:38:08 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 3:

He for sure lied.

00:38:09 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 1:

They said that he never left anywhere or they're not keeping up with the same story. And you have the receipt of where he was going because of the Uber ride. Does he know that when he Ubers, that his Uber notifications also go to you?

00:38:26 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, he knows because I asked him about it.

00:38:29 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But he didn't know at the time that he ordered the Uber.

00:38:34 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, I'm not sure, but he acted normal about it.

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 1:

How long have you guys been married?

00:38:41 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 3:

Three years.

00:38:43 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

You guys have kids?

00:38:44 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:38:46 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. And we're going to hope that they go to you. This is Tiff on the phone with us right now. I want you to mute your phone right now so that he doesn't get suspicious that somebody else is on the line when we call him up.

00:39:03 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:39:05 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 1:

All right. War of the Roses.

uh yeah great chase i'm going to uh come and wrap up this call and then we'll send those flowers off but i do need to let you know of one last thing while you were just sending those flowers off and leaving that message your wife tiff has been listening into this entire conversation and just heard you send flowers and leave that message for another woman? They disconnected. Tiff?

00:43:58 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

Do you know who that is?

00:44:06 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Who is that? His co-worker.

00:44:14 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that his friends are in on this with him or know that he's been hanging out with a female co-worker and not telling you the truth?

00:44:25 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 3:

I would be shocked if they were. I mean, you know, I consider them my friends, too. If he's out at the bar with them and then saying, hey, I'm going home and then Ubering to this other girl's house. You could be hiding it from everybody.

00:44:41 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

We're trying to get him back on, and he's not picking up. I want you to hang on the phone for just one second, okay?

00:44:47 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:44:49 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 2:

Busted again. It's your home for War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning.

00:45:00 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 4:

so much to kind of get into here uh number one the idea that he had no clue that she could see where he's going on the ubers which is interesting with everybody like sharing accounts you know everybody has multiple you know family accounts and you got you know family possibly taking pictures you get their pictures making calls you know all that stuff it's interesting that he's not smart enough to know that that's the case but or he just doesn't care well he doesn't sound like a don't care guy i really don't think he sounds like that he sounds like a guy that doesn't know like i mean he was kind of one of those guys who's like the the whole idea like when he was leaving that message jesus that message alone it was like oh my god to have to listen to that thing um and doesn't he realize that we're running out of space on our message

00:46:10 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 5:

like we can't send that no i like it i like it when they leave the longer messages because yeah because then you get i feel like you get more info about the release like i hate when they're Like, from Chase. Yeah. Mm-hmm. It gives me nothing.

00:46:23 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 4:

The friends thing is also an interesting one, too. That's what I'm mad at, bro. The friends, these friends go out with him and know he's taking Ubers to a place he's not supposed to be, and he's with this girl, possibly. This coworker. Who knows?

00:46:34 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, his friends sold him out. So when she said she was talking to the friends, I'm like, what? But they lied for him. Oh, they did?

00:46:42 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they lied. Because they kind of didn't, they didn't let her know that there was cheating going on. Never mind. I think the friends were lying for me. Because she did not. She said, yeah, I called the friends and I talked to the friends. The friends didn't say, hey, he's banging the girl at work.

00:46:59 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 3:

But did they give her any reason to think that there was any cheating? I don't know.

00:47:05 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 4:

From her submission, it was just basically she caught him in those lies of where he's going with the Uber. What's going on? Donnie wants to comment. What's up, Donnie? It's War of the Roses, Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:47:17 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 2:

Happy War of the Roses. to say good morning hey um no i was just wondering has she gone back in the receipts to look if she's

00:47:27 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 4:

if um her husband has been to this house before yeah that's a good one yeah no that's that's a really good one uh lydia that's a good one to have tiff go do um donnie good call on that one thank you for uh calling uh rose what's up it's mojo in the morning you wanted to make a comment on that long voice note that he left?

00:47:49 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think he sounds like a complete dick. And she completely deserves better. And instead of giving him a Valentine's Day card, she can serve him some divorce papers.

00:47:59 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez. Oh, my gosh. Are you putting the makeup on or going potty? What are you doing right now?

00:48:05 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

What am I doing right now? I'm putting on my lashes.

00:48:07 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're putting the lashes on? I figured something. You're definitely in the bathroom. How are they looking? By the way, when you put on the lashes, do you have your mouth open or closed? because I always feel like whenever women are putting their lashes on, the mouth's open, right?

00:48:19 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Or mascara.

00:48:20 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:48:20 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 2:

I leave my mouth open and I just don't even realize it. Like, it just happens, like, naturally.

00:48:28 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 4:

It's so funny because what it is, it's like Michael Jordan back in the OG days of having the tongue out while he was dribbling a basketball. What's going on, Susan? How you doing?

00:48:39 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. Morning. Morning.

00:48:41 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 4:

Where are the roses here on the show? Just caught a cheater.

00:48:44 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm just confused on why she thinks that her man's friends are her friends. Like, that's a born-given thing. It doesn't matter how many times you hang out with them or how great they are in your face. Behind closed doors, those are not your friends.

00:48:59 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, their loyalty is definitely not to the spouse, is it?

00:49:03 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, because, yeah, it's because, well, the thing is she said that she asked the friends and they said they were at the bar all night. So he obviously disappeared, whether he was in the bathroom or at Old Girl's house. They knew he wasn't there.

00:49:16 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:49:17 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 3:

But it's not, as his friend, it's not my job to save y'all relationship.

00:49:21 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 1:

You're absolutely right. It's your friend, as his friend, it's your job to keep your mouth shut.

00:49:26 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, is it?

00:49:27 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 3:

But I will say this, though. You got to check your, I would say you check your friend in private, but you don't let his girl know. Because if you got good morals, you're going to let, you're going to, you're going to watch

00:49:37 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 4:

your friend cheat openly. No.

00:49:39 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 5:

How much did they know?

00:49:40 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 3:

You check your friend.

00:49:42 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 5:

How much did they know?

00:49:43 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

we don't know yeah i completely agree with kevin you check your friends behind closed doors you don't you know i mean you don't sit there and be like hey you know yeah your husband's cheating no you go back on your you know your friend's back and be like look bro i don't condone cheating i'm married i don't want to be

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 3:

birds of a feather that flock together.

00:50:03 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Let's go to Amanda. Amanda, what's up? Hi.

00:50:09 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 3:

I feel like he

00:50:14 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 1:

would have stayed on the line if he actually didn't care.

00:50:20 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 2:

Really? You think that if he didn't care, he would be more bold probably, huh?

00:50:24 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good point.

00:50:26 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think he was scared. I think I think this guy was like, oh, crap, I can't believe this, and got scared. Victoria, what's up, Victoria?

00:50:35 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. Hi, I just wanted to comment on the whole her or his friends not knowing. My guy actually started, like, a whole relationship with another woman, his co-worker, six months after our baby was born, and absolutely nobody knew. Like, not his friends, not his family, nobody. And you trust them. So, pardon?

00:51:00 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 1:

And you trust all of them when they said they didn't know.

00:51:03 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, no. As soon as the child was involved, there were absolutely no secrets between the family, the friends, nothing like that. Like, they were all just as appalled as I was.

00:51:16 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 2:

So how did the news break? Who found out?

00:51:20 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 3:

I found him. I had his location, and me and my daughters wanted to go surprise daddy on lunch, and normally his phone is on silent because of his job, and we pulled up, and he was with her. Oh, God, at his work?

00:51:38 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 2:

And your kids saw that?

00:51:40 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 3:

They actually didn't see it. No, I found them on lunch. I parked on the other side of his vehicle, and they were in her car on the other side of his truck.

00:51:50 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Oh, God.

00:51:52 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 3:

So, luckily, the girls didn't see that, but. How did you confront him? Like, what happened in that moment? I knocked on the window, and I said, roll it down. Oh, my God. And then I introduced myself to her, and things got out of hand, and I told her, you got to go. You got to go, or I'm going to lose it on you, too.

00:52:17 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 2:

And where are the kids at this time? The kids are just sitting in the car while this is going on?

00:52:22 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the kids were just in the car. And then after I said what I needed to say to him, we took off. And, you know, I went through a period where I was like, okay, I'm going to try to work through this with you. And he didn't want to stop seeing her. So I ended up leaving.

00:52:40 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

I'm picturing this whole thing. And this has got to be horrible for you because you're trying to keep it together for your kids. how are you not sobbing in the car while your kids are in there oh because there was there was

00:52:53 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 3:

too much anger wow there was too much anger to even think about crying I was just thinking about our next steps and what needed to happen and then you know I kind of just held it together

00:53:06 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 2:

until the kids weren't there wow she's strong bro yeah it's amazing and you're doing good now

00:53:12 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 3:

Victoria? Oh yeah, I'm great. I'm back to work. I'm doing all the things I need to do. Let's go, Victoria!

00:53:18 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 2:

Good for you, yes. Good job, Victoria.

00:53:21 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 3:

Let's call.

00:53:22 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 2:

Alright. Thank you. We appreciate you so much. Thanks for calling. Thanks for sharing with us. I hope that gives you a little bit of, you know, I don't know, help by telling somebody about it.

00:53:31 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course.

00:53:32 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. And maybe you'll help Tiff with what's going on in her situation.

00:53:37 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses, the throwback throwdown, and the dirty of

00:53:42 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

We only got two more chances for you to win this trip to Fort Myers. You know, we're going to start with a new trip next week, and it's going to be a different place. So want to go to Fort Myers, Florida, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller wins a $50 cash card and qualifies for a trip. I talked to a friend yesterday that's in Fort Myers. It was in Fort Myers, Naples yesterday, and he texted me pictures of himself. outside in the sun with shorts on i was like you know what i'll never be friends with you ever again i uh would love by the way today to be the day that all of us put shorts on because you know

00:54:23 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 1:

the temperature is going to be like 40 degrees 43 43 those three degrees are everything 40 degrees

00:54:29 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 2:

compared to last week the coldest was what negative 19 or something like that that we got that what do you think that's going to feel it's going to feel like a difference between 60 degrees and 90 degrees. It's like summer. Let's do it. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:54:46 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30.

00:54:48 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

Tragic news of a plane crash. A lot of answers need to be found out about this. I know the NTSB is right now doing their investigations. We'll have breaking news for you right now with Shannon. the dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon? Well, several members of the U.S. figure skating team were among the 60 passengers traveling on that American Airlines plane that collided with a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter in Washington, D.C. last night. For crew members also on board, Russian world figure skating champions Eugenia Shevkova and Vadim Nomov were also reportedly on that flight, along with their son, Maxim. American Airlines flight 5342 departed Wichita, Kansas, and crashed into this military aircraft just before landing, right over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This was around just before 9 o'clock local time last night. This is American Airlines CEO Robert Isom.

00:55:54 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 3:

Flight 5342 was under the command of four crew members and carried 60 passengers for a total of 64 people on board. We are actively working with local, state, and federal authorities on emergency response efforts. And the American Airlines care team has been activated to assist our passengers and their families.

00:56:14 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 2:

U.S. figure skating confirmed members of their community were on board that aircraft in a statement. And part of it reads, these athletes, coaches, and family members were returning home from the National Development Camp held in conjunction with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita. We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy. At least 19 bodies have been pulled from the freezing cold Potomac River. That was as of about three hours ago. there are no reports of survivors yet. That U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter had three soldiers on board. And I do know that Reagan National Airport is going to be closed until at least 11 o'clock

00:56:53 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 5:

this morning. So that Black Hawk helicopter, people are wondering, you know, what was it doing? Was it protecting? It was actually doing a training flight. And here's an aviation expert from abc news john nance talking about why possibly this happened when we call it a training

00:57:12 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 1:

flight too it doesn't mean that there are two raw recruits or one instructor and somebody who doesn't have much experience it could be two very experienced pilots together and just logging time and then that goes towards currency and currency is very important it could also be a student and an instructor but they are in an environment in which they've already had a tremendous amount of exposure to the different routes for the helicopters and the procedures and the radio calls so it's not really that important to know at this point in time whether or not the training flight was a raw flight in other words an instructor really giving instruction to a student or whether it was something else the main thing is they all know what to do they all know the corridors how in the world did this particular corridor get breached so we'll keep you updated

00:57:57 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 2:

throughout the morning as we get updates Rihanna is showing her support for ASAP rocky yesterday as she pulled up to his trial in la sat between rocky's mom and his sister as the trial in his 2021 felony shooting case continued now she hasn't been shown on the court's live stream if you've been watching she is there there are security guards on both sides of the row that she's sitting in and for the record she is not expected to testify in the case now asap rocky previously turned down a final plea deal last week which would have seen him serve just 180 days behind bars now he's facing a max of 24 years if he's convicted on all charges and this all stems again from a november 2021 alleged altercation that accuses rocky of firing a weapon at former asap affiliate asap rally following an argument near a hotel in hollywood rally took the stand yesterday and testified against Rocky. And he he basically said that he pointed the gun at him along with a threat.

00:59:03 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 4:

So you get the opportunity to spend 180 days behind bars. You know, it ain't going to be that long or go to trial to potentially get locked up for 24 years. And you have the eyewitness on the stand saying this is the man that shot at me. How do you get off? Yeah.

00:59:22 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. He's hoping Rihanna gets him off. Maybe these are fans of Rihanna and they'll give him a little bit of love. That's crazy.

00:59:31 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

You guys, don't laugh at me because I don't know how to talk about odds for football games or any sporting event for that matter. So I'm going to get through the story and you can just tell me how to say these things, okay? But also don't. No. Well, I'm going to sound like an idiot and I fully understand this. So some people are suggesting that with a Super Bowl win on February 9th, Travis Kelsey could get down on one knee and propose to Taylor Swift. And now you can bet on this on FanDuel. So they're providing odds.

01:00:00 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 5:

Projecting an 11.7% chance that Travis asks for Taylor's hand in marriage on the field after the Super Bowl. After the Chiefs win. Which is not going to happen. So how do you say this? Plus 750 odds.

01:00:15 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 2:

What is it? No, no, no. That's right.

01:00:16 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 5:

No, what is it? You nailed it, dude. For real, tell me so I know. That's how you do it.

01:00:20 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 2:

So plus 750 aren't the greatest odds. Is that how you say it? Am I right in saying that, Kev? I'm not the betting guru. Yeah. I don't know.

01:00:28 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so here's the deal. If you put $10 down that it's going to happen, you'd win $75.

01:00:35 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, maybe those are good odds.

01:00:37 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. They're bad odds, which means it's a higher payout.

01:00:42 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 5:

So him not proposing to her. Because it's less likely to happen.

01:00:46 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 2:

But you think that's a high payout for $10? $75?

01:00:50 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 5:

No, $75. $75. Oh. Now, this doesn't seem like a high. Wow.

01:00:54 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 4:

Listening to us talk about money and odds. I shouldn't have done this for him. None of us did well in math, which is why we're here. I mean, that's true.

01:01:02 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

I can tell you call 1-800-GAMBLER.

01:01:04 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Right, right, right.

01:01:06 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 5:

Gambling problem? Okay, well, you can bet on that. That's the story. If you're a 50, you can bet on it. It's one of the more fun Super Bowl bets.

01:01:13 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 2:

My son Joe is the one we need to call because that kid is a degenerate gambler right now. That's all he does is gamble.

01:01:20 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, Fire Aid is happening tonight. The incredible show with the purpose of raising money to help communities just devastated by the California wildfires will be bringing together some of the top names in music and entertainment with performances by, you're hearing her right now, Billie Eilish, Alanis Morissette, Anderson .Paak, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Jelly Roll, yes, we'll be hanging out. Also, Katy Perry, Gaga, Lil Baby, No Doubt, Olivia Rodrigo, Pink, Stevie Nicks, Stevie Wonder, Tate McRae, and many, many more. We'd be here all morning if I continued with this list. Here's the deal. You can hear it tonight at 9 on whichever radio station you are listening to right now. Also, on the iHeartRadio app. Correct. and you can watch it as well. You're pointing at me

01:02:19 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

and I'm not sure why. And the money donated. So here's what I want. Yeah. Yeah. The money donating is a big deal too because all the money that's donated during this whole thing is going to get matched

01:02:27 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 5:

by Steve Ballmer who is the owner of the Clippers but also the owner of both venues where FireAid is happening. It's happening in two different places. The Intuit

01:02:35 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Dome and the Kia Forum. A country day grad. Local Detroit country day grad. Yeah. Absolutely. He's a great guy.

01:02:41 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing. So matching all of the donations as the show is happening tonight, which is pretty great. It's going to be a great show. I mean, you can't get much better than that. I know. All of those artists together. Iconic. Yeah. I feel like this is going to go down as, like, the World Aid Relief. Like, this show is going to be that big. Absolutely. Yeah. 01:04:19 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Where are you from?

01:04:21 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm from Ann Arbor. And I'm actually five months pregnant, so I'm looking for a baby moon. Oh, yeah. Oh, this would be perfect.

01:04:29 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 2:

And we got to do it quick, right? Because I don't think you can travel with the last month or something like that. Yeah. Yeah.

01:04:34 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 4:

And I'm also a middle school teacher, so I have spring break coming up.

01:04:37 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 2:

Name her Visit Florida. Name her Florida. Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The show is now on, obviously, all these great radio stations, Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM. We are on the iHeartRadio app on all of those stations, so you can listen to us and set a preset of all the radio stations and, of course, the Mojo in the Morning Show podcast that we have so that you can listen to the War of the Roses that you just had a chance to catch a cheater with. Shannon, yesterday you had to leave the show a little early because you had some sickness going on with Smith.

01:05:45 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man, you guys, wash your hands because everything's going around right now. Oh, no. I went to pick him up at school, which, by the way, I'm the mom that's like, you're good. You can go back to class. we can make it through the day because both of them call me all the time with the stomach ache but this was mom i threw up and i'm like oh damn it i i went to pick him up there were six other kids waiting in the office for their parents to come pick them up yeah i know it's just and you got that time of year and i'm feeling kind of verdicts out on me so i'm hoping that we all

01:06:19 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 3:

don't go down you got it so uh well good that wes is gone because he's not gonna get it because

01:06:25 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 1:

right how long has he gone for so he is supposed to come back tomorrow night just depending on how all of the travel just in the nick of time well it gets better so he's supposed to come home tomorrow night at some point um and so i've got smith hopefully on the up and up when we went to bed last night lucy was like mama i feel like i don't feel very good either i'm like oh my god he could potentially be coming home to two sick step kids a wife who's not feeling so hot and my sister Jacqueline is out of the country and so my family is taking turns helping her with her two girls so I'm also going to have my two nieces both under the age of four so this poor guy is coming home probably just wanting to sleep after two weeks of very little sleep shower after two weeks of not living in the greatest conditions because he was on a mission trip he probably wants to like get into some cozy clothes have some sex instead he's coming home to four children two of which are sick and again me also not feel i'm like could it be could it be a worse situation to

01:07:33 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 3:

come home would you be would you be upset if he calls and says my flight was delayed and you

01:07:37 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 1:

he knows what he knows the situation that he is potentially walking into and so i thought i will not be hurt if he decides to sleep in you know one of the open bedrooms uh-huh um i totally

01:07:53 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 3:

understand he left one mission trip to come to another one you know how like guys want to come

01:07:59 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 2:

home to a girl in a trench coat lingerie what if instead you hung a trench coat on your bedroom door and it's just like a bed yeah with like like those blackout curtains made and like a chocolate

01:08:09 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 1:

on the pillow and you just say for you yeah and just you i know kenyatta who is one of our favorite listeners of all time she i love her so much she's been checking in um for the past almost two weeks now since wes left and just like you know seeing how i'm doing and so last night she was like oh he's almost home get yourself a cute nightie and just make sure you're available for him i'm like

01:08:31 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

yeah no that's not what it's gonna look like at all whose house is crazier than shannon's right now with all this going on i mean i bet you there's some listeners that can relate to this where uh you got like everybody they're sick or you got you know somebody family now living with you or craziness i always love by the way what what you have to come home to and hearing our listeners tell us their nutty stuff that they've got because it it's so funny because that is the stuff that you you know it's not as relatable the i'm you know waiting for you in a trench coat It's more relatable. I've got screaming kids. Everybody's sick and barfing. For sure.

01:09:10 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Barfing.

01:09:11 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Luke came home from school sick yesterday from East Lansing. He called up and he said that he wasn't feeling good. And then Dr. Warner, you know, checked him out. And so Luke has got like a stomach flu or something.

01:09:26 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Is it noro? Because I know norovirus is going around like mad right now.

01:09:30 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Can you imagine being sick and living in a fraternity house with, you got a room that's the party room with three guys that all live in that thing? Like, that would not be fun. You're sick with a guy named Ass Juice, Nick. That's right. Actually, he's now going to be called that, too, after last night.

01:09:48 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Actually, it's funny you say that because when I was in college, when I was going to Butler, I was a Theta. I lived in the Kappa Alpha Theta house, and we all got sick. We all got the norovirus. We like And

01:10:00 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 2:

the Marion County Health Department had to come and slap something on our door saying we were all quarantined. It was on CNN. We were the talk of the nation, actually, because it was on national news. But it was so embarrassing that there were all these cameras outside of our sorority house because there were 72 of us stuck inside. We couldn't go to class for four days. Imagine being

01:10:21 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 3:

that Cruz that got norovirus and then they docked and wouldn't let them get off and everybody was getting sick of the hallway. It's projectile

01:10:27 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 1:

vomiting. Caitlin, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:10:31 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 4:

My house has been extremely crazy, too, because Saturday, all three of my boys got the stomach bug, and then Sunday, their dad got it, and then Monday, my daughter got it, Tuesday, I got it, and she's finally just now starting to feel better today.

01:10:47 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Oh, my God.

01:10:49 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Sending you a hug through the radio. It's the worst.

01:10:51 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 4:

It is the worst. It's the worst. It's the absolute worst. I ended up having, I almost had to take my daughter to the hospital yesterday because she just could not hold anything down.

01:10:59 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 2:

You know what I brought out yesterday, Mojo? The bucket. The popcorn bucket? Nope, it's not the pop. It's actually like the cleaning bucket, the mop

01:11:07 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 1:

bucket. Brought it out, put it right next to the couch. My mom used to do it with the

01:11:11 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

popcorn bucket, Megan. I don't understand popcorn

01:11:13 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 3:

bucket families. That's so gross.

01:11:15 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was a popcorn bucket slash every now and again if we were having a big salad. It was like Thanksgiving one year and we all looked It was like a silver thing. It was like a big one. I'm like, hey, isn't that the puke? Don't say it. Nobody will eat salad. What's up, Allie?

01:11:35 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 6:

I have five children that are all teenagers who currently have the flu, and they are all miserable. They're babies, and they've been down for two and a half weeks along with my grown man-child husband.

01:11:49 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:11:49 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you poor thing.

01:11:51 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 1:

Who's the bigger baby when they're sick?

01:11:54 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Probably my husband. I was going to say.

01:11:56 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It is so funny. Moms, Chelsea, I feel so bad for Chelsea because when Chelsea got sick, she couldn't do anything about it. It was like nobody was giving her the sympathy. I'm sick. It is bad. Yeah.

01:12:09 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 6:

And to top it off, we had our two-year-old grandson for about a week.

01:12:13 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Christ. Oh, my God. Send him home.

01:12:15 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 2:

My teacher friend just texted me and said she has 14 kids out in her class yesterday.

01:12:21 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 3:

in one class that's insane shut the school down yeah uh christina what's up it's mojo in the

01:12:28 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 1:

morning hey turn your radio down okay because you'll get confused by the delay i was so sorry

01:12:35 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 5:

sorry well my sister i'm moving her she just bought a house three weeks ago they gave her the date today to move um and so i have been sick so i just got over it but she has a broken leg So I have to move her house. My daughter has COVID. My husband has the flu. And my mom has pneumonia. Oh, my God.

01:12:53 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Jeez.

01:12:54 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 5:

So it has just been insane. I don't know how to handle it, but I'm going to do it.

01:12:59 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Well, we're sending you some blessings through the radio here. Jess, what's going on?

01:13:06 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 6:

So from all my kids, we put grocery bags inside of our puke buckets for easier cleanup.

01:13:13 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

That's a smart idea.

01:13:14 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 3:

You just grab the bag and throw it away. I never understood why families didn't do it. My family did, which was just a trash can.

01:13:20 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 2:

Why are we doing buckets? Why are we having to wash dishes? It's because our moms did buckets, and their moms did buckets. I think it's just a bucket tradition. But you can throw away trash bags.

01:13:30 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 3:

And if you're kitchen trash bags, they're, like, water-sealed, too.

01:13:34 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Although I don't feel like that's sturdy.

01:13:35 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 1:

But here's the deal, though. I don't know. Usually it's what's the first thing you can find, and you can't find the garbage. You don't want to take the garbage out.

01:13:42 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 3:

If you're reaching for the popcorn bucket, you're next to the trash can in the kitchen. It's there.

01:13:48 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 1:

The best is the people that use the chili pot, because then that chili pot looks pretty similar. I hate the cold almost as much as the person who sneezed on me and got me sick. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So I went to lunch with a very hot lady the other day. Chelsea? No, it wasn't Chelsea. But I would love to tell you that this was more salacious than I went with one of our big bosses here, Shosh, who is... Oh, love her. What is their exact title that they have? It's like executive vice president of something. She's got a fancy one. I heard something, something.

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 3:

We've got to show her some respect.

01:14:27 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 1:

So Shosh oversees like a bunch of radio stations. I think she's got like 80 plus, maybe 100 radio stations around the country. and so she's like the boss of the bosses and she has been like it's it's cool to see the growth of how what iHeart does with a lot of people here. Shosh came in as a sales rep here at the radio station like right out of college and worked her way up then became the head of the digital department then went to Toledo. She was my boss for a while yeah. She's the boss of all the stations in Toledo, then moved to this big national role. And it's awesome. And she's like one of Bob Pittman's pride and joys, man. He loves her because she does a great job.

01:15:08 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 4:

She's a division president.

01:15:10 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about awkwardness. Okay, so division president, whatever that means. I think they need to have a better title than that one. I thought my title was better.

01:15:16 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 4:

I agree.

01:15:17 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

So we go out to lunch because she's working downtown here. You know, she's coming here while she's in town, not traveling in her markets. um we go to uh san morello's which is uh the restaurant that's right there with the shinola hotel um and we walk in and it's kind of cool as a guy that honestly never had girlfriends at all like i only dated i think maybe two people before chelsea and i ended up together and i'm very blessed that i have a long lasting great relationship but i'll be honest with you man i wish i had like a i wish i had a list of girls that i dated over the years i really

01:15:54 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 3:

do. And one of those two, let's be real, one of those is imaginary. The lovable cheerleader is still imaginary.

01:16:00 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

She does not exist.

01:16:02 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 4:

She does not exist.

01:16:04 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 1:

I never dated Nancy. I went out on a date with Nancy.

01:16:08 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 4:

Nancy doesn't exist. Nancy is there.

01:16:11 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 1:

This is a long time. Michael Jordan will one time come on the air with us and tell us that he remembers Nancy. So let me get back to my story here. You're rudely interrupting me right now. Fake news. All right, so we walk into Shinola, and we walk in together, and I never know when you're sitting at a table that's meant for four how the seating arrangements go. So I usually try to wait for somebody to sit down first before I decide to sit. I always like to sit if I'm with, like I've gone on client calls before. One of the most infamous ones was I remember going out with Marla Feldman from Feldman Automotive once, and people were calling Chelsea saying, And, hey, I saw Tom out with this very attractive brunette. Wow. And Chelsea knew that I was going out with Marla. So she was, like, talking to these people all the time. And Chelsea's friends with Marla, too. So long story short, Shosh wasn't going to sit down anywhere. She was making me be the first one to sit down, which is awkward because I don't know where to put my stuff. Like, you know, I don't like I had, you know, my phone and all the rest of it. I sit down and I'm thinking, Shosh is going to sit across from me. She's not an across sitter. She's a sit next to you sitter. And I was like, oh, my God, hold on a second. I have to look around. People are going to think this is a war of the roses. Because when you sit next to somebody, it's a little bit more romantic. I think it's way more intimate. Don't you think it's kind of an intimate thing?

01:17:34 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 4:

I could not disagree more. Oh, I do. But it comes from the perspective of I'm hard of hearing. So if I'm at a loud restaurant, I need you to sit next to me or I'm not going to be able to hear you. that to me is way less romantic than same side booth sitters really i hate you if you that's me i don't care i know it grosses me out i don't care how in love you are it is so weird to see

01:17:57 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 2:

people sitting on the same side of a booth but that it's usually why i do it though like i like being close to my husband but also i can hear him way better can i tell you something with the same

01:18:05 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 1:

side booth thing megan same side booth thing happened to me with a sales call went on a sales call with angel back in the day like probably a week or so ago because we go on so many of these things but we were waiting for two clients to come and there were booths that they put us in i sit down at first in the booth and angel sits next to me i go you can't sit like that yeah you got to get up and go to the other side i because i don't want to be same side booth sitting until they come you know i mean it looks awkward right that's even more awkward it is one thing if you're

01:18:34 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 4:

walking in together and you're scooting into the same side of the booth but if you're sitting there before clients get there. You got to stay on the other side until they get here.

01:18:41 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 1:

It's so interesting when you know you're not doing anything wrong to see that you feel like you're doing something wrong, right? So we're sitting there the whole time and I'm going, oh my God, this feels weird. I'm like, what is the etiquette? Like, could I ask her to move to the other? No. But we didn't get into a conversation. She asked me some great questions. Listen, she asked me honestly one of the greatest questions. She said to me, she goes, hey, when you're not doing this anymore, What would you want to be known for? I was like, holy crap. And I was like, this is deep. No, she was Oprah. I know. She was like, she was Oprah and me. She was trying to get me all emotional and stuff. Yeah.

01:19:18 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 4:

Can I guess your answer? Yeah. Was it dating a basketball cheerleader?

01:19:24 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

Ah, you're such a bad.

01:19:25 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 4:

I forgot the Bulls' name. So that was.

01:19:27 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to call her the B word right now on the radio.

01:19:29 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it won't be the first time. We'll be like.

01:19:31 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 1:

And listeners are going to get away. I'm going to get away with it.

01:19:33 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 3:

I know you, Ben, even when the waiter or waitress came over to take your order. Did you make it very clear that this was not your wife or girlfriend, that this was a co-worker? It was a female waitress.

01:19:43 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 1:

Because I know how you get about this. This female waitress, she came over and I said, hi, my mistress here.

01:19:49 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 3:

Did you or did you joke about it?

01:19:51 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I didn't say anything at all. Okay. No, and I'll tell you something. Like, I am a very awkward person. Like, I awkward.

01:20:00 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Weirdly was kind of like looking around the whole time. I was kind of like trying to figure out exactly if anybody was looking. Nobody was paying attention.

01:20:07 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:20:08 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 3:

Nobody was caring at all.

01:20:09 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 5:

So you think. And then you get a DM. Well, you know, it's like saw you at blah, blah, blah.

01:20:14 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, the weirdest was we walked through.

01:20:15 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 5:

Couldn't say hi. I was too nervous.

01:20:17 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 3:

And then you're like, oh, crap. I don't know where the front entrance of the Samarillos is. So I always just walk into the Shinola Hotel. So that's awkward.

01:20:24 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 2:

Because you're walking through a hotel entrance going to the whole thing.

01:20:29 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask the listeners just a real quick question on this one? If you are going to lunch with a, you know, co-worker of your sexual preference. Yeah, I'll say that because it's not the opposite sex, right?

01:20:43 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 4:

How respectful.

01:20:43 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, thank you. I want the gays to call too.

01:20:46 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 4:

Come on, gays. Come through. Gays, call us.

01:20:50 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 3:

I'd like to know, like, what do you do? Like, what do you do in that case? So if you're going out with Tony.

01:20:56 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 5:

Right.

01:20:56 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 3:

Would you sit next to him? No. Would you make, would you, like, what would you do if he sat next to you?

01:21:00 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 5:

That would actually be very uncomfortable for me. Yeah. And not that I'm even uncomfortable around Tony, but that, like, I just wouldn't naturally do that if I was going out with any of you guys. Right.

01:21:10 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 2:

Bro, the only time you sit next to somebody is if you're at the bar. Y'all about to touch legs. Really? Or the bar. Or the bar. Or the bar. Or she about to grab your dick or something.

01:21:17 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 5:

But to be honest with you, oh my gosh. That's the only reason you sit next to somebody. I am, and I am a bar sitter. I if there are if there is a place where there's a bar that you could eat at I always opt for that over a table and I and Mojo you're the same way and I do feel like that can get slightly uncomfortable sometimes because even if you are if it is just a co-worker if it is strictly platonic there is something that just feels like you're like it's more than that I don't know why

01:21:46 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 4:

so when Zach and I have gone to like bars and sat next to each other I intentionally tried to turn my chair like towards them you know what i mean so we're not sitting next to each other we're

01:21:54 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 2:

facing each other yeah yeah because the bar is like there's no other way to do it you literally have to sit next to them but if you're choosing to go table or booth get your ass on the side

01:22:03 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

yes uh 844 mojo live text 95500 here's a texter here it says i work with nothing but women and anytime that i do go to lunch it's me with three to four of them everybody thinks i'm the man i I love that, by the way. Where are you working at? Is that the one guy that works at Victoria's Secret? I always think if the one guy that works at Victoria's Secret has got to be gay, right?

01:22:25 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 1:

Or just very smart.

01:22:27 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he is. Caitlin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's up, Caitlin?

01:22:32 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 1:

So I'm a server, and I actually kind of make fun of same-side sitters a little bit because there's a whole other table to reach at. Yeah. Because then you get the couples that also reach across the table and hold hands. Oh, who would do that? I make fun of that all the time.

01:22:46 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 3:

By the way, listen, Shannon saw her son barf yesterday. She's going to see the rest of us barf if she talks more about all this stuff. The public display of affection that she does in restaurants. I don't know where you work, Caitlin. Where do you work? What restaurant do you work at?

01:23:01 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 1:

Buffalo Wild Wings.

01:23:02 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Shannon's at Buffalo Wild Wings touching on to Wes the entire time with sticky hands.

01:23:08 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 4:

The epitome of romance. B-dubs.

01:23:11 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:23:12 - 01:23:12 | Unknown:

Exactly.

01:23:13 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the call, Caitlin. I appreciate you.

01:23:15 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 5:

A lot of greasy little fingers.

01:23:18 - 01:23:26 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:23:26 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:23:28 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 3:

Live, Mojo.

01:23:34 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 5:

Five, four, three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:23:43 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you ready?

01:23:45 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:23:47 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hack.

01:23:52 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 1:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:23:54 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to call out a coworker here in a second. Actually, this coworker is getting called out by a lot of people this morning, so we'll talk about that. Coming up in just a matter of moments, here are some of the topics. Was it a compliment or an insult that happened to Megan? Shannon with things to get for Valentine's Day and me with should I kick him off my sell plan. That and more plus the War of the Roses. If you miss the War of the Roses, we had a War of the Roses cheater get busted because he didn't realize that his Uber receipts were going to his wife and he ended up lying about where he was going. hear him get busted by going to our podcast if you haven't already been go check that out it's on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts listen to this radio show anywhere anytime bring us with you and I don't even care if you're listening to us live in the morning or if you're checking us out in the evening or maybe you're listening to us in the middle of the night our podcast Podcasts are available for you, and we'll get them up immediately as soon as we get done with whatever we're talking about. So if you hear something that you like or you want to send it to a friend, share it, please, on your social media and tag us, too, because we'll say hi to you. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. I would like to call Kevin out because he got called out by me on this one like a week ago. I heard him then get called out by Lydia. And then yesterday it was Bianca who works here with us on our show and does a great job. love her kevin calls her kaji b and she called kevin out because kevin's kind of changed have you guys noticed that there's been a change in our sweet dear kevin and a hush fell over what do you mean yeah like what kind of change like all of a sudden kevin went from you know when he was in his relationship this sweet dad family type guy to now he's every night's a bachelor party

01:25:55 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 2:

it sounds like. Oh, that was a big 180

01:25:57 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 3:

for sure. I mean, it's crazy to hear him like you hear him talking about the girls and the DMs and all this stuff. I was going to say, I think

01:26:03 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

his social media life has been very different.

01:26:07 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, what do y'all expect? Like, if I'm in a relationship that's heading towards a marriage, and I think anytime you get in a relationship and you're becoming serious with someone, there's a stripping of you that has to take place. There are certain sacrifices that have to be made in order for you and this person to coexist and become one. So, yeah, there were pieces of me that literally had to die so I could be born as a husband. And since that part is no longer a piece of me, then it's not going to look the same.

01:26:34 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 3:

So so you're just but I feel like you went and I know you say you say that you have not you would not you have not gone out there and dabbled at all. You've been kind of good about that. But I feel like, man, you're like headfirst into the DMs and all that stuff.

01:26:51 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 4:

I think it's very interesting, and this happens professionally, too. The way that you get introduced, they always say first impressions mean everything, whatever the case is with that saying. Whenever you meet someone, that's your image of them. So y'all met me at a period in my life where I was about to get married, and I'm loving, I'm in this relationship, I have a baby, so that's the image you have. This has always been me. Like, if the homies caught up right now, if they listen, they would tell you, oh, this is Kevin, this isn't a change from who we know. You just got to become a different person when you're ready to step out and get married.

01:27:20 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 1:

Also, I think that you're getting an unfair comparison to how I exited a relationship and it was like shop closed for years. Do you know what I mean?

01:27:32 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 4:

I do. I do think that because some people have this like when people say, oh, by 30, I should have this or by 25, I should have all of these. People have the same mindset. Well, when you get out of a relationship, this is what it should look like. you should be down bad for about six to eight months. Well, everybody has a very strong opinion about that. You know what I'm saying? And because my process doesn't look like what they think it should, I'm out here wildly.

01:27:57 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 3:

Sarah, what did you want to say about Kevin?

01:28:00 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Kevin is a straight menace right now. What are you talking about? These are lies. Why are you shabby? I mean, it's just really word choices is way wilder than they used to be. One of my words. You are way more inappropriate than you used to be. What are my words? Way more inappropriate. I like having a job. I don't know why. What if you get away with this? But if you and I said the same things, I would not have a job. Like what?

01:28:30 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 1:

I think it's also some situations that you have placed yourself in that are contributing to this new menace personality. I love that, Sarah. That was the greatest thing. Like eating cheesecake out of two hot girls' hands in the middle of Kroger. Right.

01:28:46 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Remember that? Am I not supposed to do that? Sarah, did you ever hear that at all?

01:28:50 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

No, you can't. But a year ago, you wouldn't be doing that.

01:28:53 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 3:

He had the hottest social influencers in Kroger feeding him cheesecake. Like a week after he announced that he and Sherelle were not together. It was like crazy. And I know that for those, your relationship has been, you know, long time for you guys to announce that you guys are splitting up. but it just seems like the moment you announced it was like here it comes but that's to your point

01:29:19 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 4:

though this has been the thing since like june july of last year so it took like seven months

01:29:24 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 2:

removed from that marie what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hey guys um so my friends have been seeing like they call it the flip of the coin where i am like completely more extroverted i go out more at night and stuff um because i used to be like a grandma and saying like if it's Past seven, don't even.

01:29:43 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 3:

What changed in you then? I love you. What was it that changed?

01:29:45 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 2:

I love you. I don't know. Like, I used to go swing dancing all the time with my friends and stuff.

01:29:54 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 3:

But did you get out of a relationship, too? Like, did you just, or what was it?

01:29:57 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

He cheated.

01:30:00 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 6:

I mean, so, but I'm having so much fun, and too, like, I've been going to, like, your guys' parties and stuff, and my friends are like, where the heck did this come from? And I'm like, I honestly don't know, but I love it.

01:30:16 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Marie, good for you. That's interesting. So maybe it is when you get out of a relationship that the wild side comes out for a little bit. What's up, Ashley? Hi.

01:30:27 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Hey, first I want to say, long-time listener, first-time caller. Hey, Ashley. And I wanted to just say that Kemp's just living his best life right now.

01:30:39 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 2:

Come on, now. Come say it again for the people in the back. I don't think they heard you.

01:30:45 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 4:

Ashley. But nobody's saying you're not living your best life. Nobody's saying it's wrong. It's just a menace-filled life. What is this menace term?

01:30:51 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 1:

Ashley, you've got to be careful because he's got a lot of Ashleys in his DMs. That is not fair.

01:30:57 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 4:

Wait, have you gone out on any official dates? No. You haven't. That's what I'm saying. I'm not even talking about hooking up. I'm just saying, like, date. I want him to hook up. Because then maybe he'd stop focusing and talking about genitals so much. What about genitals? Bro, nobody in life references genitals more than you do. But male and female.

01:31:16 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

Male and female. By the way, Sierra, hold on. Sierra, after your call, I'm picking up one of Kev's best buddies. Come on, come through.

01:31:23 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 5:

JG, JG, come on. Oh, man.

01:31:25 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:31:27 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how you guys doing? Good morning. I texted in and said, I'm sorry, I wasn't supposed to say that. Kevin, I'm so sorry. He's been putting himself out there more. I love it, but I feel like as a listener, I feel like, and this is so far-fetched, I feel like Sherelle hears all this stuff on the radio all the time, and she is just so heartbroken. I really don't know exactly, you know and i i'm so sorry kev but i feel like if i was sherelle i would be so heartbroken

01:31:59 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 2:

i can understand all this stuff all the time and i pray that sherelle isn't heartbroken but i think

01:32:06 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 5:

there's and i bet you i was gonna say i i bet you she prays all the time for you and i pray for her

01:32:11 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 2:

but i think at a certain point how much of my story has to be silent so that someone else's heart isn't broken and i agree you know what i mean and i try to i try to live life yeah i try to live life respectfully but at the same time what i have to prioritize is my truth

01:32:28 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

i uh i know both of you guys and i've not uh i've text back and forth with sherelle i know kelsey talks to sherelle more uh and talks to her but i uh i pray too that she doesn't uh doesn't hear this not because of any other thing and i don't think and i don't think you should stop talking about it you're right um i just think that it would be tough it would be tough But also, it would be tough for you, too, if she was out going wild, wouldn't it?

01:32:54 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I want people to live their best lives. And whatever comes from that, like, we say this all the time. I can't be responsible for your opinions of me.

01:33:04 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:33:04 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 2:

And I can't live a lower-level version of myself hoping that in some way it uplifts you.

01:33:10 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:33:10 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Like, be good on your own, and I'll be good on my own. Now, let's get to my best friend. Who on the phone? Who done called here?

01:33:17 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 1:

Kevin's best buddy, J.J., I'm with us. What's up, buddy?

01:33:21 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 3:

How you doing, buddy? Now, this the minutes. What's going on? Bro, have I changed? Have I changed? Not at all. Not at all. Kevin does want to, like, the only thing that I think has switched, we go to karaoke more often. You know, we're a karaoke group now. Like, it's very chill fun. Like, I think the cheesecake and the DMs is just part of the new single life. Like, he's not doing anything crazy.

01:33:47 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but would you agree it's menace behavior?

01:33:51 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Why is it menace behavior?

01:33:54 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 4:

Because he's a menace.

01:33:56 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 3:

He's a menace. I've heard single stories. Like, people tell their single stories here. Megan, I've heard a couple from you. They can be menace-like.

01:34:05 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 4:

Bruh, what menace stories have you ever heard about me?

01:34:10 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Getting hot, having sex, and enjoying yourself all night long? That's normal.

01:34:14 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 3:

That's like single life. Like, I don't think that's too bad.

01:34:18 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 4:

You lied. We're just, at this point, Kev needs a new birth certificate. I need you on this because we got to change his name to Dennis because he is Dennis the Menace. All right?

01:34:27 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

JG, I want to ask you a question. So we'll call this BS. Before Sherelle. Before Sherelle, BS, Kev was a wild guy, huh? Or he had a little bit of this fun side that was going on. And I'm not saying he wasn't fun with Sherelle, but I think it's fun to hear. Listen, as a guy, I kind of like hearing these stories. I do think it's funny. I just don't want you to go. I like that you're not acting on things. Like, I think it's good.

01:35:00 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 2:

I think a lot of our menace stories start pre-Joe, pre-our kids. Like, we've settled down a lot. Like, the menace that y'all think you're seeing is not the menace that was in our 20s. So it's a different Kev menace. Like, this is very relaxed. This is a 35-year-old menace. And you know what I want?

01:35:21 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 5:

You know what I want is, like, let's applaud and appreciate. Because all of this was available. Here's one thing. All of this was available throughout the course of our relationship, Sherelle and I. It's not like all these cheesecake women and these DMs just popped up. Cheesecake women? So I was a, I'm tunnel vision, focused on my relationship, locked in, and that was getting all my attention and love. Now it's just, I've come out of the tunnel and now I can see all the light.

01:35:46 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 6:

And you're a faithful guy. Thanks. Hold on, Lucy wants to make a comment. Stay with us, JG. Lucy, what did you want to say?

01:35:54 - 01:35:54 | Unknown:

This is great.

01:35:54 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 3:

I said it sounds like he's on, what do they call it, Rumspringa, where the Amish gets to leave the community.

01:36:04 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what? He's on Rumspringa right now. What is that? Where the Amish gets to go? I never have heard of that.

01:36:10 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 6:

Cav's like an Amish person that gets a taste of the real life that's out there. He goes crazy. He's just cut off the dreads. He's not riding the horse and carriage anymore. He's in a Benz. This guy's having the time of his life, isn't he?

01:36:23 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 4:

Amish teens get, like, two months to go out and, like, drink and party and, like, live life normally to see if they want to stay Amish or not. Oh, really?

01:36:34 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, how do you go back? You can't go back after that.

01:36:36 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 4:

How do you ride a horse and buggy after getting in a Benz? I don't know.

01:36:40 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 6:

It's craziness.

01:36:41 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 4:

You haven't seen them race those buggies, man.

01:36:44 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 6:

Joni, you say—

01:36:45 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 4:

See, Amish be wilded.

01:36:47 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 6:

Joni says Kev's energy is on 10. Is that right?

01:36:51 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 1:

It is. I love it. I love it for you, Kev. So listen, I've been listening to you guys. I heard all of the breakup stuff, but I'm one of the people like you can't worry about if you say something, how your ex is going to feel. Because ultimately, I mean, I don't although, you know, I know you love her and you have that history with her. It'll block your blessing from finding that next person. So for me, it's like you have to get through this stuff and, you know, continue to push forward. Be on 10. Live your life. You're not going to know if you find the right person until you date around, right? Yeah.

01:37:25 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 4:

And I get what you're saying, and I'm not accusing Kev of this because I actually think quite the opposite. I do think what's unfair for us sometimes is the platform we are given versus our partners or our exes. And again, to clarify, I don't think Kev has done that with anybody he's been involved with. But I don't think it's necessarily fair that we can just be like, well, it's my story all of the time.

01:37:47 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 6:

Listen, I'm living vicariously, so this has just been fun. No, for sure. And the topics are good. His topics are good. So we're good with this.

01:37:54 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 2:

Kev is an acquired taste. Don't like him? Acquire some taste. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:03 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 6:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning show. We have tickets to go see Justin Timberlake in like 10 minutes. And then we've got tickets in an hour or so, a little over an hour, to see the sold-out Tate McRae concert. Plus, we'll give you an opportunity to get your bills paid with $1,000. Get ready for that. Coming up here on Mojo in the morning show, Megan Mick, was she being insulted or was she being complimented by what she was recently called? What were you called?

01:38:37 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 4:

So I was talking to somebody and we were, I don't know how to analyze our relationship. Relationship is a weird word. I don't think we're dating. I don't, whatever. I have a hard time, and Shannon makes fun of me for this all of the time, understanding if people are flirting with me or not. So I feel like I need to run it through other people most of the time. So I'm talking to this person pretty regularly. I would say every day we'd chitchat for a little bit.

01:39:06 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 6:

Guy or girl?

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 4:

It's a guy.

01:39:08 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 6:

It's a guy?

01:39:08 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 4:

And the other day, I was leaving work and as I was walking out, he was saying to me, hey, girl, you look like Wendy from Wendy's because I have red hair and I have braids in it. And he went, hey girl, you look like Wendy. Now, this is where I am frustrated because I, that afternoon, thought of the best comeback ever that I did not have in the moment, which is, say, you think I'm a snack. You think I look like a snack. Is that what I said? No. I went, okay, and walked away. Because I didn't know if it was like, get yourself together or if it was like, oh, you look cute. I think it's cute. I think it's a compliment. I've gotten 50-50 reactions from people. I don't know. Oh, I say compliment. Let me look at it. I'm going to look at Wendy's from Wendy's. No, it's not even about what Wendy looks like. Well, I guess it is. It is. But I think it's him, like, just making conversation with you. Okay. So I would take that as a compliment. Like, he's trying to be cutesy with you.

01:40:12 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, look at this. This is Wendy from Wendy's. There are all the images of Wendy from Wendy's. Well, that's the old one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Is it a new one?

01:40:17 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 4:

Is it a new one?

01:40:18 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 1:

There's a new one?

01:40:19 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 2:

I think. Maybe that's the new one.

01:40:20 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 4:

How do you change Wendy? I don't know. You can't change Wendy. You do.

01:40:23 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 2:

But look, though, I don't-

01:40:24 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Have you seen the new Strawberry Shortcake?

01:40:25 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, go ahead.

01:40:25 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Wild.

01:40:25 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it's a compliment. I don't think it's an insult either. I just think it's like a realization. Like, he was just like, it popped in his head. Like, damn, you know, you look like...

01:40:34 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 4:

Now, and let me tell you something. I bet she walked away and he was like, why did I say that to her? Why did I say that to her? Is it the guy that I'm thinking of? Okay. Yeah. For sure, he was like, ooh.

01:40:45 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 1:

I want to know who you were called or said that you looked like, but you took it as an insult, but they thought it was a compliment. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number here. Because Wendy from Wendy's, like if it's like somebody that's like cartoon character-ish.

01:41:01 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 3:

Right. You know what I mean? Right. And it's commenting on the appearance, which isn't necessary.

01:41:06 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 4:

I always say tread very lightly when you tell somebody that they look like somebody else.

01:41:12 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is when we do say to somebody, oh, you know who you look like? And the person goes, how dare you? And we don't mean it as an insult.

01:41:20 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 3:

Dude, I said that to a guy around here, and he was offended. I was like, well, I thought that would do was hot. So now you're saying my taste is bad, and you're offended.

01:41:27 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 4:

Or when they just look at you, like, with they don't know what you're talking about, and you're like, it's a compliment. You should take that as a compliment. You have to show them the picture. You have to tell them, right.

01:41:34 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't you hate that? Like, you have to go, hold on, let me go to Google Images here and find somebody. Mojo on the Morning Show. What's up, Terrence? What's going on, buddy? How are you doing today? Good, man. What's happening? Not a whole lot. How about you? We're doing good, man. Now, an insult or compliment, what was the person that they said that you looked like?

01:41:53 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 2:

They said I either looked like The Rock or Mark Henry from WWE. Mark Henry, though.

01:41:58 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. What does Mark Henry look like?

01:41:59 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 2:

He's a big-ass black dude.

01:42:00 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

01:42:01 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, with some tiny clothes.

01:42:04 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 1:

That's actually not. Oh, my God. Mark Henry is kind of a big fat black dude, though, isn't he? He's kind of a big guy.

01:42:10 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I am, too, though, so it depends on how I have my hair. But The Rock and Mark Henry look like two-toned. They're not the same person. Yeah.

01:42:19 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 1:

Kristen, what's going on? It's much in the morning.

01:42:22 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 6:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey, Kristen. Hello. When I was in Chicago with my family quite a few years ago, we were in line for the aquarium, and I had never had anybody tell me I looked like anybody before. I had two different people the same day come up to me and said, I look exactly like Melissa Joan Hart, which I took as an insult. I didn't really like that.

01:42:51 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 1:

Is Melissa Joan Hart, you don't think, is attractive at all?

01:42:54 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 6:

Marina, Bettina, is which? No, I don't.

01:42:58 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 1:

Really? That's interesting. Because I didn't think, you know, that that would be so bad. Who do you think you look like?

01:43:06 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, my ex-husband told me I look like Nicole Kidman. Oh. But I'm not sure I agree with that either.

01:43:12 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

But Nicole Kidman before all the work that she got done, hopefully. right because Nicole Kidman that man she's got more plastic surgery how does that woman get so

01:43:19 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

many acting roles when she can't convey a single emotion she's amazing you don't think she's good she doesn't she has no facial expression and she's an actor but no but anytime anytime there's a

01:43:31 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 1:

movie where somebody's like a murderer or somebody like that like she's got to be the the wife in it

01:43:35 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 5:

or whatever what's up Kayla hi hi first time long time who do people say you look like um I will I'll never forget, I have always been a little petite, and I had just had a baby, and, you know, I obviously was a little bit sicker, but I remember I came outside, and my next-door neighbor, I was new, he came out, and he was like, oh, man, you look so sick. And I remember I was so taken back, and he meant it as, like, a compliment that I was sick, but I remember I was so mortified.

01:44:06 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 1:

It is funny when guys say that, because when you say it in that tone, that's a hot tone. But no girl, I don't think, wants to be called thick at all. Yes, they do.

01:44:16 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 2:

See, I... No. What'd you about to say? Y'all don't like thick? A thick, juicy booty. That's what I'm saying. It's with C's, not...

01:44:24 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but if you think I'm skinny and hot, you're going to be like, damn, you're a queen. You're a goddess. You're beautiful. You're so hot. But then if you just think I'm overweight, but I still have a pretty face, you go, you thick, girl. And I don't like that.

01:44:37 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 1:

Angie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi. Hey, what did they say to you?

01:44:41 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 6:

It's been a long time, long time. Hey there, a lot of them. Hey, Angie, I've been a long time for a long time.

01:44:45 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

We love it. What's going on?

01:44:48 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I used to have long hair, and I recently cut it really short, and this already happened twice. I was here at my boyfriend's family's house, and we were all just gathered around.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 7:

And then his mom's like, you know who you look like? You look like Rocky Balboa.

01:45:05 - 01:45:06 | Unknown:

Come on.

01:45:06 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 7:

Come on. She hates you. My hair is curly, and it's kind of short, and I have a beanie. But then she's like, not Rocky Balboa. You look like his wife. Oh, his wife.

01:45:21 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning.

01:45:22 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 7:

Like I had a beanie on, right?

01:45:25 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, that's funny. That's what you respond with.

01:45:27 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to act like Rocky Balboa.

01:45:29 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 6:

01:45:56 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 6:

saying that? Because she's got the hottest body in the world.

01:46:00 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 7:

I don't have that body. I don't know

01:46:02 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 6:

what they say. What do you look like? I don't know. Come on now. You look like

01:46:08 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 8:

Janine. What do I look like? Yeah. I mean, I have the full lips. I'm light skinned and my eyes are kind of brown, but...

01:46:13 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 6:

How your body, though?

01:46:16 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 8:

It ain't the best.

01:46:18 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 6:

Come on. Janine. It ain't

01:46:22 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 8:

the best. Come on, girl. Give yourself

01:46:24 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 6:

some credit. Come on. I mean, I know

01:46:26 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I love that.

01:46:30 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 6:

This is a great one. Todd, are you there, buddy? Yeah, what's up? How you doing, man? What's going on? Doing good, man. How are you? I'm fantastic. This is a good one. Some people may be attracted to him, but I would probably guess that others would take this as an insult. Who did they say you looked like? Harry Potter. Come on.

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 8:

I think that's hot.

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 6:

You got Harry Potter.

01:46:52 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I got Harry Potter. Was it the glass?

01:46:54 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 6:

The collapsible people. No Harry Potter.

01:46:56 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 8:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:48:23 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 6:

All right, Shannon's going to get us caught up on what's trending, the dirty on the 30, the latest on the plane crash.

01:48:29 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, just such tragedy overnight in Washington, D.C. If you have not yet heard an American Airlines flight with 60 passengers and four crew members aboard collided with an Army helicopter while trying to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport. This is right near Washington, D.C.

01:48:47 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 2:

It happened just after 8.45 last night, an explosion in the Washington, D.C. sky as a military helicopter and a passenger jet collided midair.

01:48:55 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 4:

Crash, crash, crash. This is Alert 3. Crash, crash, crash.

01:48:58 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 2:

A live stream from an EarthCAM webcam capturing the moment of impact. A fireball lighting up the sky. Authorities say an Army Black Hawk helicopter and a regional American Airlines plane with 64 people on board crashed into each other.

01:49:12 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 5:

The water that we're operating in is about eight feet deep. There is wind. There is pieces of ice out there. So it's just dangerous and hard to work in.

01:49:21 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 2:

The jet, an inbound flight from Wichita, Kansas, was on final approach to Reagan Airport with 60 passengers and four crew members. Officials say three Army soldiers were on board the Black Hawk, the explosion sending what was left of both aircrafts plunging into the Potomac River. Ari Schulman was driving home when he looked up and saw the plane falling from the sky.

01:49:41 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 3:

It was illuminated bright yellow underneath, and there was a spray of sparks on the underside of the plane. And I knew something was wrong because it was very, very close to the ground. It was maybe 80 or 100 feet above the ground.

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 6:

That's unreal how close to the ground it was. Watching the video is hard when you know what happened.

01:49:59 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I wish I wouldn't have watched it.

01:50:00 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

And the latest update, no survivors are expected. In fact, emergency authorities have now switched to a recovery effort. They are confident that they will be able to recover all of the bodies. President Donald Trump describing the collision as a quote-unquote bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented in a social media post. This is Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.

01:50:24 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 2:

I know the president is incredibly concerned about what's happened here today. I'm sure we'll continue to hear more from him. And I'll continue to consult with him and Secretary Hexeth.

01:50:34 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 5:

By the way, the CEO of American Airlines just came out to speak. And he essentially said, we don't know why that military aircraft came into the path of this jet.

01:50:46 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 4:

Question for you. And Trump made it seem like he putting all the blame on the helicopter. Like he basically saying this is his fault.

01:50:53 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 3:

He was putting the blame actually on the FAA, the tower people.

01:50:57 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 6:

You sure?

01:50:58 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 3:

And his Truth Social post said that, yeah. Because a lot of people were upset that he's putting blame on anybody right now.

01:51:04 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 4:

So my question is, do we know how the collision, like was it a head-on collision? Did the helicopter hit the side of the plane? Did it hit the back of the plane?

01:51:12 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 5:

They just keep describing it as mid-air collision.

01:51:14 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 3:

They believe that that helicopter, because the runway that they used to land on was a very rarely used runway. And they believe that that helicopter was going off of a pilot was going off of instincts and not going off of sight because he went over towards that runway thinking they never land on that runway. But they do land smaller planes like this one. This plane was one of those planes. You ever fly between here and Chicago? It's one of the smaller planes where there's just, I think, less than 100 seats on there. So it's one of those.

01:51:45 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 5:

And there were only 70 seats on this one.

01:51:46 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 6:

We're going to get audio from all of this. All this is going to be recorded. We're going to know exactly what happened eventually if they release it. But I think the frustrating part is we've heard that the, what are the air traffic controllers said to the helicopter, do you see the plane? And they answered in the affirmative. And still hit them. So was it intentional now becomes a question.

01:52:07 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 5:

And the secretary of transportation did say both the jet and the helicopter were taking a standard flight pattern. So there was nothing strange.

01:52:16 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I think we also have to look at this too. There's not enough of the, you know, tower workers. There were so many people that were in that career at one point. During COVID, they all left. I think we're going to look at maybe how long these people are working. I think that the aviation, for as many flights as there are every single day, we don't have enough pilots. We don't have enough people that are air traffic controllers. I mean, it's dangerous. Either they got to do less flights in the sky to prevent any kind of potential catastrophes. We've had too many near misses. It seems like every week we're reporting somehow of a near miss on a runway. And a lot of it is error by somebody telling them to land and they shouldn't be landing.

01:53:00 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 6:

But this isn't that case. That's not the case at all.

01:53:03 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 3:

This might be the case because it might be the case of, hey, get the hell out of the way. Why are you in that area right now? We're landing a plane. Not can you see the thing. I agree with that part you shouldn't even be in that area and they should know exactly how close those planes are to each other

01:53:20 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 5:

especially like I said if it's standard flight patterns something happens that's why it feels in touch

01:53:27 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 3:

you're 300 feet from the ground and that's when the crash happens 300 feet from the ground that plane's basically landed helicoptered get your effing ass out of there

01:53:35 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 5:

I mean we heard from a husband last night his wife was on the flight and had just texted him that they were landing.

01:53:44 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm just praying that somebody's pulling her out of the river right now as we speak. That's all I can pray for. I'm just praying to God.

01:53:50 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 4:

When was the last time you spoke with her?

01:53:52 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

She texted me that they were landing in 20 minutes. Landing in 20 minutes. The rest of my text did not get delivered.

01:54:01 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I did just get another update. 27 bodies have been recovered from the American Airlines plane, one from the helicopter. That's awful. In Other Dirty This Morning, Dr. Phil, as in Dr. Phil McGraw, has a message for Selena Gomez, who, if you remember, posted a video this week sobbing about President Trump's illegal immigrant crackdown. So he did like a ride along with ICE agents this week. It was in Chicago, actually, over the weekend. And he says he's convinced if Selena had seen what he saw, she would not be shedding those tears. He said, quote, I'm not sure who she was identifying with. I don't think she would relate to the people that were taken down in this operation said ice agents were reading off the charges and the convictions in the command center were murder murder child sex crimes child rape and aggregated assault so he basically said to her save your tears you don't know who you were crying for

01:54:53 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 3:

you see yesterday they said that some of the people are gonna be taken to Guantanamo Bay because they don't want to send them back to their

01:55:00 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 1:

countries they came from because they think that they'll end up back in the country they have 30 000 beds saved in guantanamo bay there's they said that some of these people some of these people are notorious murderers and uh and drug dealers that they just want to get off of uh the streets basically how is guantanamo bay allowed uh how is it well it's used that's where they house

01:55:21 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 3:

terrorists in there no i know but it's like where we torture people how is that allowed well there

01:55:25 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 1:

There was, well, you got to practice somewhere. Can I ask you, can I ask you this question? What do you, what do you do? I mean, that was an incident that took place a while back, but what do you do with these people? Do you, uh, if, if there is somebody, if there's El Chapo's and stuff like that, where do you put El Chapo? Do you put them in Jackson, like prison or where do you, where do you go? I don't know.

01:55:48 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

Alabama Barker is shutting down rumors that she secretly got pregnant by Tyga. The 19-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and stepdaughter of Kourtney Kardashian has been rumored to be hooking up with Soulja Boy as well. Just lots of rumors going around about her. But the rumor started after her rival Bad Baby, still the spelling of this name blows my mind, but okay, released a diss track about her called Overcooked. And some fans believe that that track contained hidden allegations that Alabama had been with both Tyga and Soulja Boy. However, she came out yesterday and wrote online, let's clear this up. I have never in my life been remotely near Tyga. I've also never been pregnant, nor do I know Soulja Boy, The End.

01:56:34 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, did you hear the song?

01:56:35 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 2:

No, I didn't.

01:56:37 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. It's like a 30-second clip of each. I have to send it to you. Can I play them or are they?

01:56:42 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 1:

You can play them, yeah. Will we be doing a new music Friday with it at all? Or can we play it instead of that Will Smith? Don't do that. Don't do that.

01:56:50 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 3:

Let's put Big Sean's part in there.

01:56:51 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:56:51 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 2:

I like all the parts.

01:56:53 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:56:54 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, advertisers are paying a record of more than $8 million for spots at this year's Super Bowl. The game on Fox between the Chiefs and the Eagles totally sold out for ads. Prominent advertisers, automakers, food and beverage giants, of course. A lot of AI spots you're going to see this year. Same for pharmaceutical companies.

01:57:16 - 01:57:18 | Speaker 1:

Have you seen the When Harry Met Sally one?

01:57:18 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 2:

I did, for Hellman's. So I love old rom-coms. And when Harry met Sally with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal is like one of my absolute favorites. And so they recreate the scene in the deli where she's like, you know, whatever. And they all have what she's having for Hellman's mayonnaise. The line is with Sidney Sweeney. Sidney Sweeney makes a guest appearance on it.

01:57:41 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe they let us back in this place.

01:57:43 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 2:

Why?

01:57:44 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Nobody remembers that. Something wrong?

01:57:52 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Not doing it.

01:57:53 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 3:

No good?

01:57:54 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 1:

Nothing.

01:57:55 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we can't have that.

01:57:57 - 01:57:57 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:58:05 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 3:

What's happening? There we go. Mm-hmm. Oh, my gosh. Oh, boy. So good. It's just... Oh, this one's real. Yes. Lunch and a show, huh? How about that? And that is a sandwich.

01:58:34 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 2:

I'll have what she's having.

01:58:36 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's great.

01:58:37 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 2:

You guys, I just saw Meg Ryan when I took Lucy to New York City a couple of days.

01:58:41 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 1:

You saw her actually out there, yeah?

01:58:42 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was having lunch at the table next to us. And Lucy's like, take a picture with her. I couldn't ask her. I was too scared. You had to do that scene, though. No. Can you imagine? In the middle of this, like, busy, busy, busy restaurant we were at. I just know she'd roll her eyes at you. She would. I'm sure everybody's done that.

01:58:58 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 1:

Do you know what I love?

01:58:59 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 2:

This is why I don't go out in public.

01:59:00 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 1:

I love when commercials bring a classic moment, but also update it with having-

01:59:07 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 2:

Like with Sydney.

01:59:07 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 1:

With having a modern taste with Sydney there. Taste. I heard from our Detroit 3 that we have that they're not doing advertising. I heard that we will see very little auto ads in this year's Super Bowl. And they also said State Farm's not going to advertise because of the whole.

01:59:26 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, I told you that, yeah.

01:59:27 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's going to be interesting.

01:59:29 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 2:

02:00:37 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy how fast this month went?

02:00:40 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh, it's going so fast. My kids are going to be so jealous.

02:00:44 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Mom is getting a night out. Have the best time. You're going to see Justin Timberlake. Hang on the phone and we'll get some information from you.

02:00:51 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thank you so much.

02:00:53 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 2:

You are so welcome. We'll be right back with more.

02:00:58 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 3:

cheating is a choice not a mistake don't be fooled another war of the roses is after nine on mojo in the morning

02:01:05 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 2:

let's talk about love right now love this music but valentine's day fast approaching and uh we're gonna talk a little bit about valentine's gifts uh shannon you want to Throw something out there, a little group chat.

02:01:27 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 4:

So we don't, Wes and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. I feel like Valentine's Day is for kids now. Like it's so, it's such a cute holiday for like the kids to have their classroom parties and make their Valentines, which now is very over the top, you know.

02:01:41 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 2:

It's for kids and guys that are cheating. I don't know. What? It's for.

02:01:47 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 4:

But, okay.

02:01:48 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

So I used to say that and people would be like, you're such a passionate. No, I like Valentine's Day.

02:01:52 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 4:

I think Valentine's Day is really cute. I'm not poo-pooing on it. we just don't like we've never gone out to dinner to celebrate valentine's day on february 14th or anything like that but um i kind of want to do something romantic for him it doesn't even have to be around valentine's day or on valentine's day rather like it can be around valentine's day but um this spa that i love sent out an email and they were talking about how they had like a special for a couple's massage and then there were all kinds of other things that like went with it but the main bulk of this package was a couple's massage and i was like oh that would be amazing i love getting massages do guys like getting massages or is that a dumb get would that be

02:02:35 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 2:

a really dumb surprise how does it end how does it end i got you well if it's at a professional

02:02:42 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 4:

place no it ends with them telling you to put your clothes on and go pay i i think a massage

02:02:49 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

is a great thing a couple's massage i think a couple's massage is great too but i think that either of them are great like i think i think i don't think that if i got chelsea a couple's massage she'd probably be like you know that's great but i would rather have it by myself but i think as a guy for me if you gave me a couple's massage if chelsea gave that to me i would go oh my god it's cool she wants to be in with me and do this you know thing together even though i've done couples massages before and i've done them we've done it twice when we were away on a vacation One, they put you in separate rooms. One, they put us in the same room.

02:03:22 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I was going to say, mine were always in the same room. I love them. I feel like this would be in the same room.

02:03:27 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Are you doing anything afterwards, or this is it?

02:03:31 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I haven't given it that much thought.

02:03:32 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know if I'm going to book it yet. Yeah, if you do it, do something else. Let this be like part one of the vibes.

02:03:38 - 02:03:39 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:03:39 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 3:

I feel like the only guys that don't want massages are the guys that haven't had professional massages. Because I dated a guy who did not want to get a massage. I got us a couple of massages, and then he asked for them all of the time.

02:03:52 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, okay.

02:03:53 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But he's like, I think it's weird for a guy to rub me down. And then he got one, and then he was like, can I get another one?

02:03:59 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he had a guy?

02:04:00 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:04:00 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, because I had a female. Can you choose? I had the female. Chelsea had the guy. Or I'm sorry. Yeah. And I was a little kind of weird about some guy like doing this. But Chelsea has more knots and wanted it. The lady was harder than the guy.

02:04:18 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

02:04:18 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 2:

The guy, the lady was, like, beating the crap out of my back. And so during the middle of the thing, I'm like, you know, we may want to sweat. But I thought it was weird that they had, like, music playing and all that stuff. I wanted to talk during the whole thing. I'm a talker during massages. Why?

02:04:37 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 4:

Aren't you supposed to be relaxed? I start talking, and then I usually.

02:04:40 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 2:

Like, I want to know their life story. Like, I want to know everything about them.

02:04:44 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 3:

But that's the point of a couple's massage is to talk. That's why they put you in the same room. Otherwise, I'll just pay for two individual massages.

02:04:50 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think it seems wrong. What do you think? Hold on, Matt. What are your thoughts? Would you like if your girl got you a couple's massage?

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, my guy has. Oh, your guy.

02:05:02 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I'm sorry.

02:05:03 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 1:

No, you're good. What about your guy? We've gotten several over the years, and it's great. It's a great way to spend time together. Dude, are you gay? I actually have one booked for him in Hawaii next month.

02:05:17 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 3:

So when you do a couple's massage as gay men, do they have men or women massaging you?

02:05:23 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 1:

We've had both. They usually ask the preference, and no one cares.

02:05:28 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 5:

Who do you prefer? Who's giving you the best massages?

02:05:33 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 1:

We've had good and bad in both.

02:05:35 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Oh, my God. Give me an answer.

02:05:40 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Generally bad.

02:05:42 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Do you guys think that when you get a couple's massage, they should couples massage you and then let themselves out of the room and then give you the opportunity while you're...

02:05:53 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 1:

No! That's fire.

02:05:54 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 6:

That's low-key fire. No, they are not like a cleaning staff for your sexcapades. They could be.

02:06:00 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 3:

It should be like that place that you go to with a hot tub inside.

02:06:03 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 6:

I also feel like there's just cameras everywhere.

02:06:06 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know. Even though I think that's a great idea. What's up, Renee? How you doing?

02:06:11 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. How are you? Fantastic. I'm sorry. This conversation just made me laugh.

02:06:16 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 3:

What made you laugh?

02:06:18 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 6:

Because I had, you know, I had this, I had like this bucket list. So him and I did like this, we were in Istanbul. so we did the turkish bath massage yeah what's that are it's it's like well they'll do like they'll wash your hair and then they'll uh you go in a sauna first it's like it's like a two-hour thing they'll give you tea at the end but but we were in the same room together and like these women were like on top of us and we were bruised we were crying we were gonna go out to dinner after and stuff. We were going to go out to dinner after. Our asses were. We had bruises. It was something else. I'm like, well, at least I can say I've experienced this.

02:07:03 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

You can't swear.

02:07:05 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Save me!

02:07:08 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 3:

You can't swear on the radio, but thank you so much.

02:07:11 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. Bye, Dad.

02:07:12 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. I beat the crap out of it. Oh, my God. When a masseuse does that to you You gotta be careful You know the other gift that I Thought about that should be done couples wise too Couples and facials Have you ever gotten a facial before?

02:07:30 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

I love facials Megan you're right

02:07:33 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 3:

A couple's facial would be interesting Because I actually think that a facial is more relaxing to me Than a massage

02:07:39 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 4:

I get the facials that they like The extractions in the microwave They're not relaxing

02:07:44 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 5:

One year I got a sex coupon book and in the coupon book it had things you could rip off and give your partner so if you wanted special things done it was a coupon book for it you had to oblige the request you can't

02:08:02 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 4:

why did you ask the next question you know who he is you want to say oral or something oral was one of them I know but I can't just ask

02:08:12 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 5:

but it's like fun when you have the book because you can't say nothing

02:08:16 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 3:

No, but it's kind of cool to have a coupon.

02:08:18 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I want to say no sometimes.

02:08:19 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 3:

No, but I like the idea of a coupon because I think the coupon thing is kind of cool because you remember when you were a kid and you'd get the McDonald's coupon book and you wished you had more french fries?

02:08:30 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 5:

That's exactly what it's like, bro. That would be for backdoor stuff. That would be like... Hey, that's in there, too. Miss, get a wild card?

02:08:36 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:08:38 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 4:

Wild card. Yeah. He actually would like something like that. Yeah. I don't know. I'm telling you. And that's way cheaper than couples massage. Maybe I'm going to do that.

02:08:49 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:09:05 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're paying bills. We're going to get you some money coming up here in just a little bit. We'll give you a chance to win $1,000 to get your bills paid. We'll give you a word to go enter up on MojoInTheMorning.com. This is not the pay your bills word. This is just war of the roses. If you ever suspect that the person that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you, text cheater to 95500 and we will get you on the show. We've been getting a lot of people that have been texting for friends lately. Like, you know, asking for a friend and they've been texting us and then we'll call them back and they'll say, hey, I got a friend. And have your friend do the texting or you do the call with them, okay? So I know if you, you know, maybe have a friend that doesn't have the courage to get in touch with us, you can do the initiating, but we need to talk to them. All right, War of the Roses.

02:09:58 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:04 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 4:

Tiff thinks that her husband is cheating, and you actually think that you caught him in some lies. Can you give us, like, an example of one of the lies that maybe you caught him in?

02:10:15 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, he lied about where he was at. Instead of being at a club with his friends, he was at some house. How do you know that he lied? Well, I get receipts from Uber sent to my email.

02:10:29 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 4:

And the receipts showed that he was going to a bar and he wasn't where he said he was supposed to be? Where did he say he was supposed to be?

02:10:39 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 3:

He said he was at a pub with his friends, but the receipt said that he took a ride from the pub to a house. And you don't know that house? No, I don't know the house. And when I asked him about it, he said that his friends, like, decided to go watch the game at someone's house.

02:11:05 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 4:

But do you not know, you don't believe that what he said to you? You don't think that he's being honest with you? Right. Why do you think he's lying?

02:11:14 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, because, like, I asked one of his friends, and they said no, they were at the pub all night.

02:11:22 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 4:

So they said that.

02:11:23 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 3:

So he for sure lied.

02:11:24 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 4:

They said that he never left anywhere or they're not keeping up with the same story. And you have the receipt of where he was going because of the Uber ride. Does he know that when he Ubers that his Uber notifications also go to you?

02:11:41 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, he knows because I asked him about it.

02:11:44 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But he didn't know at the time that he ordered the Uber.

02:11:49 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, I'm not sure, but he acted normal about it.

02:11:54 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 4:

How long have you guys been married?

02:11:56 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 3:

Three years.

02:11:58 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 4:

You guys have kids?

02:11:59 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:12:00 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. And we're going to hope that they go to you. This is Tiff on the phone with us right now. I want you to mute your phone right now so that he doesn't get suspicious that somebody else is on the line when we call him up.

02:12:18 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:12:20 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. War of the Roses.

02:12:24 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 2:

hello hi is this chase uh yes it is hi chase how are you this morning i'm doing well how are you

02:12:41 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 1:

who's this i'm good thank you my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a floral company a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com i'm actually calling with an offer for some free flowers for you do you have like less than a minute to answer some survey questions in exchange for a dozen long stemmed red roses totally free no shipping charge not going to ask you for your

02:13:02 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

credit card information and it's actually just two questions yeah uh yeah sure thank you okay

02:13:11 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

have you purchased flowers in the last six months chase uh no okay and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months uh probably not okay that's all i needed from you and as a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey i'm now authorized to provide you with the dozen long-stemmed red roses they will be shipped out this afternoon just so you're aware and i'm gonna go ahead and get some information from you about who you want to send these flowers to okay so we're gonna start with a first name and a last name um this is for the person i'm

02:13:49 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 2:

i'm sending it to correct yep um yeah uh alexa uh last name okay and do you have a phone number for her uh yeah um yeah three one three uh

02:14:09 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

one two i believe okay are you positive on that one no you want to double check it yeah okay i just want to make sure that that's the right number because uh we're going to be sending her a text which i'll get to in just a second and you're going to send a voice memo so it'd be really weird if it was sent to the wrong person yeah yeah yeah while you're looking for that

02:14:35 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 2:

what's her relationship to you i have to fill that out too um she's uh she's uh just this the girl there's girl that um okay is it a so romantic partner

02:15:00 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah you could say that okay and was that number that you gave me correct uh yes it was yeah okay um so chase the reason that i needed that number to be right by the way is we're going to be sending her instead of a paper card a voice memo and so i'm going to record that with you in just a second you can say anything you want you can make it as long or as short as you want and when she when the flowers get delivered she's going to get a text message alerting her to that delivery she'll be able to play this voice memo and know it's from you all right okay okay i'm gonna count you down and you just go three two one uh hey girl um it's jace

02:15:43 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 3:

just wanted to uh to send you these these 12 roses to uh to brighten up your day i've been thinking about you pretty much non-stop every single day i'm on my way to work when i'm working out all the time um i'm just i'm i'm pretty crazy about you so yeah hope this could put a smile on your face the way uh the way you put a smile on my face every day okay and are you good with that

02:16:14 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah yeah i like that okay chase i also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes? Are you okay with that?

02:16:26 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:16:28 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 2:

Great. Chase, I'm going to come and wrap up this call, and then we'll send those flowers off. But I do need to let you know of one last thing. While you were just sending those flowers off and leaving that message, your wife, Tiff, has been listening into this entire conversation, and just heard you send flowers and leave that message for another woman? They disconnected. Tiff?

02:17:13 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:17:16 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 2:

Do you know who that is?

02:17:21 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Who is that? His co-worker.

02:17:28 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that his friends are in on this with him or know that he's been hanging out with a female co-worker and not telling you the truth?

02:17:40 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 4:

I would be shocked if they were. I mean, you know, I consider them my friends, too. If he's out at the bar with them and then saying, hey, I'm going home and then Ubering to this other girl's house. You could be hiding it from everybody.

02:17:56 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 2:

We're trying to get him back on, and he's not picking up. I want you to hang on the phone for just one second, okay?

02:18:01 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:18:04 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Busted again. It's your home for War of the Roses, Mojo in the Mornings.

02:18:14 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

So much to kind of get into here. Uh, number one, the idea that he had no clue that she could see where he's going on the Ubers, which is interesting with everybody like sharing accounts, you know, everybody has multiple, you know, family accounts and you got, you know, family, uh, possibly taking pictures, you get their pictures, making calls, you know, all that stuff. it's interesting that he's not smart enough to know that that's the case, but he doesn't sound like a don't care guy. I really don't think he sounds like that. He sounds like a guy that doesn't know. I mean, he was kind of one of those guys who's like the, the whole idea, like when he was leaving that message, Jesus, that message alone, it was like, oh my God, to have to listen to that thing. um and doesn't he realize that we're running out of space on our message like we can't send that

02:19:17 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 5:

no i like it i like it when they leave the longer messages because yeah because then you get i feel like you get more info about the release like i hate when they're like from chase yeah it gives

02:19:29 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

me nothing the friends thing is also an interesting one too the friends these friends go out with him and and you know he's taking ubers to a place he's not supposed to be and he's with this girl possibly this co-worker who knows yeah his friends sold him out so when she said she was talking to the friends i'm like but they lied for him oh they did yeah they they lied they because they kind of didn't they didn't let her know that there was a that there was cheating going on and they they i think the friends were i think the friends were lying for me because she did not

02:20:00 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 5:

said i was yeah i called the friends and i talked to the friends the friends didn't say hey he's banging the girl at work but did they give her any reason to think that there was any cheating

02:20:10 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 6:

i don't know from her submission from her submission it was just basically she caught him in those lies of the where he's going with the uber uh what's going on donnie wants to comment what's up donnie it's war of the roses mojo in the morning show happy war of the roses

02:20:24 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 3:

to say good morning hey um no i was just wondering has she gone back in the receipts to look if she's if um her husband has been to this house before yeah that's a good one yeah no that's that's a

02:20:40 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 6:

really good one uh lydia that's a good one to have tiff go do um donnie good call on that one thank you for uh calling uh rose what's up it's mojo in the morning you wanted to make a comment on

02:20:51 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 4:

that long voice note that he left yeah i think he sounds like a complete dick um and she completely deserves better and instead of giving him a valentine's day card she can serve him some

02:21:05 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 6:

divorce things oh jeez oh my god are you putting the makeup on or going potty what are you doing

02:21:10 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 4:

right now what am i doing right now i'm putting on my lashes oh you're putting a lash i figured

02:21:15 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 6:

something you're definitely in the bathroom how they looking by the way when you put on the lashes Do you have your mouth open or closed? Because I always feel like whenever women are putting their lashes on, the mouth's open, right?

02:21:25 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 4:

Or mascara.

02:21:26 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:21:26 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 4:

I leave my mouth open and I just don't even realize it. Like, it just happens, like, naturally.

02:21:34 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 6:

It's so funny because what it is, it's like Michael Jordan back in the OG days of having the tongue out while he was dribbling a basketball. What's going on, Susan? How you doing?

02:21:45 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. Morning.

02:21:47 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 6:

Morning, War of the Roses here on the show, just caught a cheater.

02:21:51 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm just confused on why she thinks that her man's friends are her friends. Like, that's a born-given thing. It doesn't matter how many times you hang out with them or how great they are in your face. Behind closed doors, those are not your friends.

02:22:06 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, their loyalty is definitely not to the spouse, is it?

02:22:10 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, because, yeah, it's because, well, the thing is, she said that she asked the friends, and they said they were at the bar all night. so he obviously disappeared whether he was in the bathroom or at old girl's house they knew he wasn't

02:22:21 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

there yeah that's not as as his friend it's not my job to save y'all relationship you're absolutely

02:22:28 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 1:

right it's your friend as his friend it's your job to keep your mouth shut well is it but i will say

02:22:34 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 5:

this though you gotta check yeah i would say you check your friend in private but you don't let his girl know because if you got good morals you're gonna let you're gonna you're gonna watch

02:22:43 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 1:

your friend cheat openly no how much did they know we don't know yeah i completely agree with kevin you check your friends behind closed doors you don't you know i mean you don't sit there and be like hey you know yeah your husband's cheating no you go back on your you know your friends back and be like look bro i don't condone cheating i'm married i don't want to be uh birds of a feather that flock together.

02:23:09 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 6:

Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Let's go to Amanda. Amanda, what's up? Hi.

02:23:16 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I was going to say if he like...

02:23:18 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 6:

What's that?

02:23:20 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 1:

I feel like he would have stayed on the line if he actually like didn't care.

02:23:26 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 6:

Really? You think that if he didn't care he would be more bold probably, huh?

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like he would have We've had that. Yeah, that's a good point.

02:23:32 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think he was scared. I think this guy was like oh crap, I can't believe this and got scared. Victoria, what's up, Victoria?

02:23:41 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. Hi, I just wanted to comment on the whole her or his friends not knowing. My guy actually started like a whole relationship with another woman, his co-worker, six months after our baby was born. And absolutely nobody knew. Like, not his friends, not his family, nobody. And you trust them. So, pardon?

02:24:06 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 1:

And you trust all of them when they said they didn't know?

02:24:10 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, no. As soon as the child was involved, there were absolutely no secrets between the family, the friends, nothing like that. Like, they were all just as appalled as I was.

02:24:23 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 5:

So how did the news break? Who found out?

02:24:27 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 2:

I found him. I had his location, and me and my daughters wanted to go surprise daddy on lunch. and normally his phone is on silent because of his job, and we pulled up, and he was with her. Oh, God, at his work?

02:24:44 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 6:

And your kids saw that?

02:24:46 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 2:

They actually didn't see it. No, I found them on lunch. I parked on the other side of his vehicle, and they were in her car on the other side of his truck. Oh, my God.

02:24:57 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God.

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

So, luckily, the girls didn't see.

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 1:

that but what did you how did you confront him like what happened in that moment i knocked on

02:25:06 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 6:

the window and i said roll it down oh my god and then i introduced myself to her and it things got out of hand and i told her you gotta go you gotta go or i'm gonna lose it on you too like and where

02:25:24 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 3:

are the kids at this time the kids are just sitting in the car while this is going on

02:25:28 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the kids were just in the car. And then after I said what I needed to say to him, we took off. And, you know, I went through a period where I was like, okay, I'm going to try to work through this with you. And he didn't want to stop seeing her. So I ended up leaving.

02:25:46 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm picturing this whole thing, and this has got to be horrible for you because you're trying to keep it together for your kids. How are you not sobbing in the car while your kids are in there?

02:25:57 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, because there was too much anger.

02:26:01 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:26:02 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 6:

There was too much anger to even think about crying. I was just thinking about our next steps and what needed to happen. And then, you know, I kind of just held it together until the kids weren't there.

02:26:14 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 5:

Wow. She's strong, bro.

02:26:16 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's amazing. And you're doing good now, Victoria?

02:26:19 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. I'm great. I'm back to work. I'm doing all the things I need to do. Let's go, Victoria.

02:26:24 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 3:

Good for you, yes. Good job, Victoria.

02:26:27 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 6:

It's called.

02:26:28 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 3:

All right. Thank you. We appreciate you so much. Thanks for calling. Thanks for sharing with us. I hope that gives you a little bit of, you know, I don't know, help by telling somebody about it.

02:26:37 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, of course. Thank you.

02:26:39 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 3:

And maybe you'll help Tiff with what's going on in her situation.

02:26:43 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 4:

All right. What do you got, Shannon? You too. Take care.

02:27:58 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 1:

So the latest on this plane crash, 67 people are believed to be dead this morning following the American Airlines plane that collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter just before 9 p.m. in D.C. yesterday. We're getting new updates by the minute. more than 30 bodies have now been recovered from the Potomac River so far. Authorities are confident they will recover all 67 bodies. Now, American Airlines Flight 5342 departed from Wichita, Kansas, and crashed into that military aircraft like literally minutes before it was supposed to land. And this is over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan National Airport. The Army describing being the three on board that helicopter as, quote-unquote, fairly experienced. They did say night vision goggles were on board. That was important for them to mention. Several members of the U.S. figure skating team were among the passengers on the American Airlines flight. Also, Russian World Figure Skating champions Eugenia Shikova and Vadim Naumov were also on that flight, along with their son, U.S. Figure Skating, saying in a statement this morning, these athletes coaches and family members were returning home from the national development camp held in conjunction with the u.s figure skating championships in wichita we are devastated by

02:29:28 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 2:

this unspeakable tragedy so russia gonna launch their own investigation i'm sure if one of their own is killed in this well three of their own you know what i'm saying yeah i don't know that's the

02:29:39 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 3:

interesting thing a lot of people said we gotta look at the flight uh you know list of who is on this plane is there anybody because everybody right away we all we don't believe anything anymore right we think there's always conspiracies to everything um and i get it i you know but air travel has been so unsafe lately like when you hear these near misses, that when I heard the stat that this is the longest period of time that we've had no major crashes, I mean, that's pretty wild.

02:30:08 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 2:

It is the worst aviation, American aviation tragedy since 2001. Shem, you said something about night vision goggles? It was important for the Army to note that, so I don't know if, why. If it was training, they said it was a training.

02:30:24 - 02:30:38 | Speaker 3:

They say that night vision goggles change perspective of depth perception and everything like that, especially with the Potomac River there, and that sometimes you don't know the distance that you are with night vision goggles.

02:30:38 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

If that's the case.

02:30:39 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 3:

I don't know why they're that close to the White House then. What were you going to say?

02:30:42 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 1:

Or any airport that has commercial flights going in and out of it.

02:30:47 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 3:

That's got to be a last resort. Why are they training that close? You know? I don't know.

02:30:51 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 4:

It looked intentional. That's all I'm going to say. I didn't see any other footage, I'll be honest with y'all. This morning, I was getting the news as y'all were reporting it. No, I wish I wouldn't have watched it. I looked at this dash cam footage like four or five times, and obviously the speed that a plane is decreasing is like, you know, they go hundreds of miles per hour, so it can happen that fast. But there are four lights, you know, when it's at nighttime, they have those blinking lights so you can see where the plane is. Yeah. It flashed four times before that helicopter hit them.

02:31:16 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how you missed that. Well, and that plane was so close to just being a landed flight. Yes. It's amazing.

02:31:23 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Andy Reid is blowing off the chatter about his, or about the, I should say, alleged favoritism his Chiefs have been getting. The Kansas City coach asked about it on the Pat McAfee show yesterday with Pat asking Coach Reid, you and the refs are meeting like tonight for the Super Bowl, right? Is that what's happening? And the coach's response, two very simple words. Yeah, right. He said he tries really hard not to pay attention to any of that stuff.

02:31:49 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 3:

Do you think, Kev, that there is blatant favoritism?

02:31:54 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, definitely. I think there's a lot of money that is generated based on the superstardom of the Chiefs and who they're affiliated with, Taylor Swift, et cetera, et cetera, that it's good for the game if Patrick Mahomes is there. And I think the refs do just enough.

02:32:12 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 3:

It's almost kind of like WWE wrestling fake, right?

02:32:15 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 4:

Those Josh Allen, fourth and ones, like, it's clear it's a first down. I don't know what they're looking at.

02:32:20 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, that non-interception and then they called it a catch was, like, bad, too. Xavier Worden. Can I bring up another sports quick thing with Kevin? I watched the Pistons-Pacers game last night. Uh-huh. And the Pacers might be the punkest team I've ever seen.

02:32:35 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 4:

They some hoes.

02:32:36 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 3:

Was it Halliburton? Is that that guy's name?

02:32:38 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 4:

Which one? He's on the team, yeah.

02:32:39 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that guy is. And I loved how they were getting called out by Greg Kelser and George Blahub. But it was it reminded me of the old days. Remember the Ron Artest?

02:32:50 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yeah. No, the rivalry is renewed. That's for sure.

02:32:54 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 2:

Rihanna, so in her support for ASAP Rocky yesterday, she was there. She was at his trial in L.A. Told you she was going to be there. Sat between Rocky's mom and sister as the trial in his 2021 felony shooting case continued. Now, if you're watching this on live stream, you're not going to see her. She was there. I don't know if she'll be back today, but security guards on both sides of the row that she's sitting in. She is not expected to take the stand and testify in this case whatsoever. But some details here. ASAP Rocky previously turned down a final plea deal last week, which would have seen him serve just 180 days behind bars. And now he's facing a max of 24 years behind bars if convicted on all charges. And this all stems from that 2021 altercation that accuses him of firing a weapon at ASAP Raleigh following an argument near a hotel in Hollywood. Raleigh actually took the stand yesterday. Do we have that? Oh, yeah. Yeah.

02:33:49 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 5:

He pointed at me and then that's when Elijah was like in between and he's like, I'll kill you right now. F*** your life, whatever. And then I'm right behind Elijah and I'm saying if you brought a gun, use it then.

02:34:03 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 2:

the audio is really bad the only thing you need to know is relly said he literally pulled a gun pointed it at me and said i will kill you wow yeah rocky got to be confident bro

02:34:17 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 4:

because he's not taking to turn down yeah several plea deals he got to be coming yeah

02:34:23 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 2:

getting some details about country singer sam hunt being arrested earlier this month on charges of speeding and violating an interlock device you guys know what an interlock device is it's that thing you have to blow into a breathalyzer yes before like it'll let you drive your car okay um police in henderson county tennessee say sam was charged jailed and released on a 1500 bond all within a day this was back on january 20th his mugshot was just released yesterday though this is his second arrest in the last five years remember he got arrested in 2019 on a dui

02:34:56 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 3:

Did he look good in his mug shot? No, he looked drunk. That is an allegation. I don't know if he was drunk.

02:35:03 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm just saying he didn't look cute. If there's one thing you got to do is take a good mugshot photo so you can post it and sell merch.

02:35:14 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 1:

Do you know the funny thing about Sam Hunt? Do you know much about him, Kevin? Nah. Sam Hunt, he was an SEC quarterback. I forget what team he played with. Yeah, he was either a backup quarterback or something in college or something.

02:35:26 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, you have to Google for the video of this thing. What's this? A massive fish bit the head of a woman performing as a mermaid as kids are watching this happen at an aquarium. Now, it's in China. It's still this story. I mean, the video is crazy. This aquatic artist, her name is Masha. She's swimming in one of those like huge wall, like ceiling, Florida ceiling, wall-to-wall aquariums, okay? And you see this huge fish. Megan, you said you think it's a sturgeon. I mean, bit down on her, almost her whole head in its mouth. Snuck up behind her too. In front of all these little kids. So this woman tries to fight back. She's able to free herself from the fish. She rips off her goggles and swims to the surface. She suffered head, neck, and eye injuries. Here's the crazy, I mean, that part of the story is crazy in itself. Her employer told her to get your butt back in the water. What? And never, ever share footage of the attack, which everybody who was there was sharing footage of it. She got paid $100 for that gig, too.

02:36:37 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 2:

Not worth it. Hell yeah, $100, baby.

02:36:42 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Don't play this, Paul. That's terrible. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:36:51 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 2:

02:36:56 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 1:

Get more Dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. Here we go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Your home of War of the Roses, the second date update in the Dirty on the 30. This is the Mojo in the Morning show. I am seriously thinking about doing this. I'm seriously thinking about kicking my eldest son off of my cell phone plan.

02:37:26 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 2:

That's so mean.

02:37:27 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 1:

Joe, my son Joe, who you can listen to in the afternoons on Channel 955, The Joe Show. I was thinking about this. And then I saw this study and I'm like, oh, so other people are as dumb as I am. A new study on family phone plans found that the average age that adults are that are currently on their family's mobile phone plan account is 28 years old. Joe has just aged out of that. The average age, 28 years old, 32% of adults currently on their parents' plan are 30 years old or older. So that's still pretty high. I can't believe that. And surprisingly, the report says that having an adult child on your family plan in their 20s can actually save the family more money if they contribute to the account.

02:38:29 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:38:30 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 1:

So they have to be forking a little bit of money over.

02:38:32 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 2:

he doesn't pay for dick can we ask scott mick to stop listening please why wait hold on does he still pay for yours um yes and i am on his plan and i will pay him no and i will never leave his plan i will absolute that man will die and i will still be on that plan i'm not even gonna file the paperwork for it to cancel because our plan is so old and we're grandfathered in and it's so good that, like, I could never lose that. Once I lose that, I'll never get a cell phone again if I don't have that plan because it's so cheap. So does my dad pay for my cell phone bill? Yes. Do I pay for a lot of subscriptions for him? Yeah, I'm sure I'd pay for more stuff for him than the phone bill.

02:39:14 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 1:

Because Joe does have the YouTube TV account, which I'm loving.

02:39:18 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 2:

Right, right.

02:39:19 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 1:

But with this said, I looked at who uses the most data on our plan. Joe by far uses the most data.

02:39:26 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 2:

But do you have a really old plan that he's on?

02:39:28 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 1:

No, I got a new one.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is it unlimited data? I was about to say.

02:39:32 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 1:

No, but it shows you.

02:39:33 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 3:

Isn't every plan unlimited?

02:39:34 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 1:

But it shows, no, they lower your data when you get to a certain point.

02:39:37 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 2:

And they'll slow you down, which is why I won't leave my plan because we're grandfather. It's why every time we talk about phones, I pay full price for phones. And it's because if I get a phone deal through my phone company, they redo your plan. So I have to pay full price for phones, but they cannot slow down my phone. And I have unlimited data.

02:39:58 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 1:

Samantha, what's up? mojo in the morning how you doing good morning so i'm on my in-laws plan because my husband's phone plan is through work so it would cost me double to be on my own yeah so i just pay them every month and stay on their plan maybe you should just have joe pay you every month that

02:40:18 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 2:

does make sense what what that's it it's interesting that uh he won't pay yeah he's

02:40:23 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 6:

not going to pay for anything he won't do it he will if you threaten to come on what i should do

02:40:29 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 2:

is I should do the service that they have for my plan where I can shut off his phone randomly. Like I can randomly, you know, just like shut it off.

02:40:40 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 6:

We did that with the kids. We give them like a screen time allotment. So after two hours, everything, just every app you cannot use.

02:40:47 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 2:

I'll put them on. That's another one too. I'll do it so he can't use any apps. What's up, John? How you doing?

02:40:53 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 3:

Not too bad. How about yourself?

02:40:55 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic, John. What's going on?

02:40:57 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 3:

Not much. I was just saying, keep them on your plan because plans these days get expensive if you start a new one. Why don't you just make them pay his portion?

02:41:07 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, I guess Megan said it the best. He actually does give me usage of his YouTube TV, and I actually find that to be good. I put that YouTube TV on when I'm on the treadmill, and, man, I can sit there and watch forever.

02:41:23 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 4:

You know what my response is to my dad every time he asks for money?

02:41:27 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 2:

What?

02:41:27 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm just a baby. I'm just a girl. I can't do it.

02:41:31 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 6:

I can't do it. I'm just a girl.

02:41:34 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 2:

By the way, your dad is a big sucker. Is a big sucker. Yeah. And I guarantee you that your dad is going to hear this later because I'm calling him.

02:41:42 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 6:

No, he's texting me right now.

02:41:43 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 3:

He's listening.

02:41:44 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 4:

I don't care.

02:41:44 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 3:

He knows it's funny. He's already putting his mother to get her out of the phone plan as soon as he dies.

02:41:50 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 4:

How dare you? Get him off the phone.

02:41:52 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, call up Scott Mick because he and I need to, Misery Loves Company.

02:41:56 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 6:

we need to share in this. It's funny that I pay for my dad's not phone plan. I've never been on my dad's phone plan, but I pay for his iCloud storage. Like I have him on my iCloud storage because I have so much and he was trying to save stuff to his iPad and couldn't do it. And I'm like, dad, I'll just throw you on my account. So it's me and my dad. Your dad is very active on

02:42:17 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 2:

Facebook. Yes, he is. He is a Facebooker. Well, he's retired. He's a social influencer. And he

02:42:24 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 6:

has been so busy that he's comparing the shapes of the food he eats to United States. So if you want to see the cheese he ate the other day that's shaped like Minnesota, go in my dad's face right there. I read Scott Matt about four times, but he didn't answer.

02:42:41 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

That's alright. I'll call him later today. Why don't you just call him right now? Oh, she said that she's trying to... No, through your phone. Oh, through my phone? Yeah. If he doesn't answer for Lydia,

02:42:50 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 6:

he's not answering for anybody. Well, it just went straight to voicemail. Here, I'm going to call.

02:42:54 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't have the capabilities I used to have where I can actually play it through the board, but here, I'll put it up next to the thing. I'm going to call my buddy, my friend, my pal, Scott Mick.

02:43:07 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 4:

Unless he's in a meeting.

02:43:09 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you think he might be?

02:43:10 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 4:

But he's texting, so he's listening. Yeah, so Mick's speaking.

02:43:13 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, come on, man.

02:43:15 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 4:

That was professional.

02:43:17 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Scott, I think that it's time for you and I to put our big boy pants on, grow some balls and kick our children off of this they think they can suck out uh you know

02:43:28 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 5:

all the money out of us thing you know um i've got kind of a more collective view on that um yeah i'm gonna save a couple of bucks a month on that at the end of the day she's picking my

02:43:40 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

nursing home i never thought about that it's really worth it so you want to kick off joe

02:43:47 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 5:

Because he's, you know, he's bigger than his two brothers, and he'll have, you know, more say at where you end up.

02:43:52 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:43:53 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 5:

If he goes first, you're in a bad way.

02:43:56 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Actually, the funniest is, I think out of the three boys, he'd be the most, you know, nice. Yeah, oh, for sure. He'd put me in that really fancy one, you know, the one where they're all having sex still, like with other people. That's so cute. Do you ever drive, by the way, you ever drive by some of those places and you go, God, that would be a nice place to live.

02:44:20 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm happy where I am. I don't need to, I don't need to start shopping for a nurse.

02:44:25 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 2:

I live in, but no, my problem is I live in West Bloomfield. You come visit me in West Bloomfield. There's a million of them in our town and they're nicer than any of the apartment complexes there.

02:44:34 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. On the outside. Don't go in. Oh, really? Oh, geez.

02:44:38 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right. Well, we will, we'll talk to you later. I'll call you later today. We'll have some fun talking.

02:44:44 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 5:

Love you. Sounds great.

02:44:46 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 2:

All right. See you later. Take care of yourself. Bye. By the way, WKQI Detroit. Call him back. Call him back.

02:44:52 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 5:

WSX Muskegon Grand Rapids.

02:44:54 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 2:

WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo? He's amazing.

02:44:59 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 2:

Live. I think he also called Kevin a menace when I was hanging up. Did you hear that? I don't think so. The menace over there. Mojo in the morning show. Quick question. When was it that you said that you, and you tell me the name of the parking company. Remember the valet story that you brought up on the air where you had like a valet double charge you or whatever?

02:45:21 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I didn't say where, and I'm not going to say where.

02:45:23 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:45:24 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 4:

Because I like this place so much. The valet just sucks.

02:45:28 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 2:

I got scammed by the valet. and I actually was it downtown yes was it look at me I'm about to see yeah it was yeah on close yes but I think it's same company but let me tell you what ended up happening so tell me if you guys think that this is a scam so I said I said to the guy I go I go hey uh here you know what I'll I'll pay you on my credit card and he goes I'm sorry my card reader is broken I can't do the credit card thing. And I said, okay, your credit card. Okay. So I pull out money and literally I have a hundred and like $30 in cash. Okay. But I have a hundred sticking out of there. So the problem is when you have a hundred and somebody sees a hundred right away, they think that you got a ton of cash with you that you're carrying, you know, around like, you know, casino money. So the guy says to me, he goes, I'll tell you what, just give me $25 cash. And I'm thinking, holy crap was it expensive to to park here so i gave him the 25 cash well what he didn't understand was that i was going to see how much the valet was because they text me the receipt of the valet my receipt for the valet was 16 the guy asked me for 25 so what i did was i actually wrote an email to the valet company that you know how it has on there and it says up on here when they give you the ticket yeah well on this receipt i click on it and it says comments and complaints and help so i clicked on the thing and here's what i wrote i said and i did it from my mojo email i can't believe you actually did this oh i'm proud of myself i'm proud i got it all right here i uh i wrote a an email and i said scammed in the uh the subject and i said i parked at your location today and the valet told me that there was no card reader to do my credit card and asked me to pay in cash i paid 25 cash why is it this receipt shows that the parking was a lot less and i put the receipt in there the 16 uh receipt that guy got a good tip that's a great tip don't you think

02:47:37 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 1:

Gratuity included.

02:47:38 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, I turned my car right back around, and I confronted him face-to-face when it happened to me. I, like, really felt so ripped off.

02:47:47 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 2:

To me, the...

02:47:48 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I was ripped off.

02:47:49 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 2:

The part that bothers me is when you get scammed, you know you got scammed, and I know you actually turned around and did that whole thing. For me, I was home when I saw this whole thing. I wanted to drive right down for that money. It's so violent.

02:48:03 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 4:

And then you're like, do I look that stupid?

02:48:06 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Don't answer that.

02:48:07 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 1:

They probably tried with everybody, to be honest with you.

02:48:10 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 2:

We all look stupid. Cav, you wouldn't fall for this, would you?

02:48:14 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I probably have and just never looked at the receipt. Yeah.

02:48:17 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 4:

But also the assumption that you were even going to give a tip, let alone a great tip like that, too.

02:48:29 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 2:

It bugs me. They've responded to me. Listen to this. They responded to me this morning. Greetings. thank you for reaching out exclamation point my name is carla and i'll be assisting you today in order to find a more personalized solution to your problem this sounds like it's a bot can you provide me with some additional details regarding the type of assistance that you're needing this is definitely a bot well now i'm even more mad could you provide me with the receipt payment regarding your issue of 25 maybe they they just use keywords um once we have the information we'll be able to resolve it as quickly as possible i understand that your time is valuable and i truly appreciate your cooperation in advance looking forward to your response i'm going to respond back go f yourself carla carla look at the email you dumb do not

02:49:20 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 4:

you know how like i love that we get angry at like siri and alexa the other day i was trying to put a calendar like a reminder on my way to work and it's he now for some reason siri is a man in my car but he was like getting it wrong getting it wrong and so finally i screamed f you and it

02:49:39 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

put f you at 9 a.m on my counter can i uh tell you though when it comes to stuff like this my favorite passive aggressive thing to do is highlight the entire ritual message forward it to that response and say please see above yeah but not just like a portion of it like bitch from A to Z like begin

02:50:00 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Try again. I'm waiting to end.

02:50:01 - 02:50:12 | Speaker 6:

Here's what I'm writing. I said, Carla, look at the receipt, exclamation point. It says $16 was the charge. I gave him $25 cash in all caps.

02:50:12 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 5:

Which he asked for.

02:50:14 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 6:

Cash doesn't have a receipt, you dumb.

02:50:17 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Say that. Yeah. You'll get what you want. So the same exact thing happened. You got double charged, but they tried to pretend like that was the only charge. It's crazy. Beware, everybody balleting in Detroit. Did y'all go to the same place? I don't know.

02:50:33 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 6:

You know where mine was.

02:50:34 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that I do.

02:50:35 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 6:

I talked about it earlier this morning.

02:50:37 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 5:

You can't say it again.

02:50:39 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 6:

I went to the restaurant where I validated it at the restaurant.

02:50:44 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 5:

Why is my brain speaking?

02:50:45 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 6:

I'm about to say both of them in a minute.

02:50:47 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Why are we not saying the places? That wasn't the same place.

02:50:52 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 6:

Because what?

02:50:52 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 5:

Because my friend is the food and beverage manager of the place that I went to. And so I don't want to give his place a bad name because the valet has nothing to do with his restaurant.

02:51:04 - 02:51:05 | Unknown:

That's right.

02:51:05 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. I thought that Carla was on the phone. It's actually Carol on the phone. What's up, Carol? How you doing?

02:51:10 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Morning.

02:51:11 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:51:13 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 2:

I had a run-in with Parking Valley Company, downtown Detroit as well, over the summer.

02:51:20 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 6:

Where was it? Can you say it? No, no, don't say it. Don't say it. We're not saying. Why do you want to do that? It's like an incomplete story.

02:51:27 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but what if one of them, like Shannon said, works with us, and the valet has nothing to do with the company, and now one of our clients is upset?

02:51:35 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 6:

Why would they be upset? It has nothing to do with them, like you said.

02:51:39 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

Well, this gets bigger, so I'm currently working with an attorney because when I picked up my vehicle the next day after checking out, I didn't realize that they hit something with my vehicle, and they covered it up by spray-painting it. Oh, my God.

02:51:56 - 02:52:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's bad. That is crazy. The fact they had spray paint on day, that is nuts. So what does your attorney say can happen? Are you going to get some damages for that?

02:52:07 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, I didn't discover it until a day later. So when I took it down there and confronted the valet service myself, one of the attendants admitted that they had discussed it in a group text. I had a chat the night it happened, and I filed an incident report, and I'm waiting for them to pay for the damage that's been since July, and they won't send me the money, so I'm currently receiving charges.

02:52:38 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 6:

Wow. That's good for you, because that can be very, very expensive. Yeah, and it's also time-consuming now. It's just taking up all your time. That's ridiculous.

02:52:47 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 5:

And they probably made it worse when they spray-painted it, too.

02:52:50 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 6:

Let us know what ends up happening. We'd love to find out. Hey, Jamie, what's going on?

02:52:56 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, Moe's on the team? Yeah, I just wanted to say that it kind of sounded like when you got that email, that it was basically said to you, you got to prove that you paid that $25 in cash.

02:53:08 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 6:

How do I prove that? Maybe security cameras.

02:53:11 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 5:

There is a camera right there.

02:53:12 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, maybe the security camera can see me counting it out, you know?

02:53:17 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 4:

You look like Daddy Warbucks over there. Unless you're going to give them the actual footage, right.

02:53:20 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 6:

I mean, that's craziness.

02:53:23 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 4:

You know, all these systems are built to try to get as much money off of people as possible without them actually, you know, finding out right then and there. Well, it's a scam.

02:53:32 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 6:

But here's the deal. I don't believe that this valet company did it. I believe the guy did it. I think the one guy just kind of screwed me.

02:53:40 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 4:

And honestly, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, I don't. The people who work for them, they know the ins and outs of how things work. So then they try to get in whatever little finesse that they can.

02:53:48 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 6:

And here's the deal. Well, if the guy said to me, hey, man, you know, it's a $16 charge, I'd love, like, yesterday I was talking about the Uber guy that was trying to get more of a tip by telling me his sob story. It's like, just give me good service. You brought my car to me. Everything looked like it was good. I'll give you a tip, man. I think that the problem is when you just scam somebody like that, they got a bad taste in their mouth, you know?

02:54:10 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 4:

You know, and it ruins the generosity that people like us, we want to give back to people who do such services, but then when they do stuff like that, it kind of just ruins the whole taste.

02:54:19 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 6:

Completely. Yeah. Thanks, Jamie. Appreciate your call, man. Arielle, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

02:54:25 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good. Yeah. So a similar thing happened to me last summer. I don't know. I can't say the restaurant name. Can I?

02:54:33 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 6:

No, don't say it. Yeah, it doesn't make it doesn't add to the story.

02:54:37 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 3:

OK, so, yeah, downtown, I was trying to take a spot. It was super crowded. I was trying to take a spot that was not in ballet. and then the valet team literally drove across the sidewalk all the way up in front of me just to take the spot. So I ended up calling in and he got fired the next day.

02:54:55 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you told on him and the guy got fired. See, I don't want to see this person.

02:54:58 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

The whole team got fired.

02:54:59 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, the whole team.

02:55:00 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 3:

team oh my god i don't want to see this guy get fired but i don't i just think that he's you know if he's doing this this is adding up i think i should get help me hank to like go there with the with me and take hank out hank winchester or like or you know whoever i mean i love hank

02:55:17 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

who's the hall of shame guy uh the rob walczak take rob walczak the hall of shame oh my god i

02:55:24 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 4:

love that guy hank would do that because he loves that restaurant you know what would be

02:55:27 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 3:

You know what would be the greatest ever? And it would be like a bit, like a good viral bit. Get a person from every one of the TV stations, hidden camera people, and we all jump out of the same car with their mic flags and microphones and walk into a place and just see everybody's heads turn. Like watch it. You know what I mean? Who do we get? We get Jessica Dupnick, Rob Walcheck. Karen Drew. Karen Drew. Hank. Hank Winchester. Oh, God. I don't know anybody at Channel 7 anymore.

02:55:58 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 5:

You know what we should do? We should set up a fake story and give them all a lead and see who gets there the first for a prize.

02:56:03 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That would be the greatest. Guys, we got a story for you. There are rats in the I Heart building. Come on.

02:57:05 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

All right, top trending stories.

02:57:08 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 3:

We're going to start with a debate that I don't necessarily think it's even debatable. Long-time football coach for the New England Patriots Bill Belichick The guy who is now dating a girl that's what, like 20 years old or something like that? Like a college girl or something? Bill Belichick says that the name of the Super Bowl trophy Which, if you didn't know, it has a name Is called the Lombardi Trophy the Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after longtime Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, that that trophy name should be changed. And he says that the name should be changed to a name reflecting and honoring the best football player of all time, Tom Brady. Really? He wants the trophy to be called the Brady Trophy. I'm sorry, who is this? Players win games. This is Bill Belichick.

02:58:07 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

Okay, sorry.

02:58:08 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 3:

Bill Belichick.

02:58:09 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 1:

Players win games. you can't win games without good players I don't care who the coach is it's impossible you can't win without good players you know I found out when I had Taylor and Banks and Harry Carson, Pepper Johnson Jim Burt, Everson Walls all those guys are the Giants same thing when we got good at Cleveland and then at New England it's Brady, it's McGinnis it's Vrabel, it's Brewski it's Corey Dillon, it's Randy Moss Troy Brown Lawyer Malloy, Ty Law, Rodney Harrison, those are the guys that won the games. Man, I didn't make any tackles. I didn't make any kicks. That was Vinatieri that made that kick in four inches of snow. You've got to have good players. And as a coach, you want to give your players a chance to win. You want to put them in a position where if they go out there and play well, they'll have a chance to win. And that's what Coach Parcells taught me is there's always a way to win. You just got to figure out what it is, and you have to give the players a chance. They don't name it the star trophy. It's named the Lombardi Trophy. Maybe I should name it the Brady Trophy.

02:59:11 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 4:

I love that he says it needs to be named after players, yet he quotes a coach that taught him everything, he just said.

02:59:18 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 3:

It is interesting, you know, thinking about, like, nostalgia and do you change it? Because there are so many people that probably have no idea who the hell Vince Lombardi is.

02:59:28 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 4:

But it's tradition, and I don't feel like it should be changed unless there was some sort of scandal that came out about Vince Lombardi.

02:59:34 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:59:34 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 4:

Like, why do you need to change it? Yeah, why do I do it?

02:59:38 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of the Super Bowl, one of my favorite pictures, somebody was walking around with a Lions picture, and it says, who cares who's playing? And it was the Lions logo. I love that.

02:59:49 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 4:

Somebody needs to make that sweatshirt.

02:59:50 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 3:

And I would love to know, like, I know that they're saying that the game, you know, will always be the most watched event of the year, the Super Bowl. But I wonder what the rating is.

03:00:00 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 1:

are going to be like in Detroit? Like, do you guys even care?

03:00:02 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 2:

No. Yes, bro. I'm still going to watch.

03:00:04 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 5:

So, it's so funny.

03:00:04 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 1:

Do you?

03:00:05 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 5:

My girl group chat right now is going off, and we all want to get together for like a Galentines, and they're like, do you want to just do it during the Super Bowl? Because nobody's going to be watching the Super Bowl.

03:00:14 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 1:

Nobody really cares. Like, nobody cares.

03:00:15 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 2:

What did y'all do last year for the Super Bowl?

03:00:18 - 03:00:18 | Speaker 1:

Last year, I ate.

03:00:18 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking to Shannon and her Galentine people. I don't remember. See? Y'all don't never care about this. This ain't no different. I think we had people over.

03:00:26 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

But I do actually, I do love the eating portion of it. I love being able to have the party and the eating and everything. And then I feel so bad afterwards.

03:00:34 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 4:

But I can tell you which was the last Super Bowl I cared about, and that was Matt Stafford playing with the Rams.

03:00:40 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 1:

Really?

03:00:40 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 2:

I went to that one.

03:00:41 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 1:

That was a good one. You went to that Super Bowl? Yeah. Really? Tell me about that. How did that work out?

03:00:46 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Sherelle, her organization got awarded for the great work that they do with Inspire Change, which is an initiative brought on by the NFL. Wow. And she did great work with Pure Heart Foundation, and we got tickets to go to California and go to the Super Bowl.

03:01:02 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing.

03:01:03 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 2:

That's very cool.

03:01:04 - 03:02:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, I got a couple just nonsensical stories here, interesting stories. Did you hear about the guy who faked his own death to avoid paying child support? The Indiana man who faked his own death to avoid paying child support was found alive at his girlfriend's house. Due to Jeffrey Lynn Bell Jr.'s death, the amount of child support owed by bell would go unpaid a detective also informed us that jeffrey bell was allegedly still living and staying and residing at his girlfriend's house he is charged with making false information there was a story that came out not that long ago about the guy who faked his death in wisconsin on a boat like he had that he basically faked that he died in the in the water drowned they could never find his body he had a boat that took him out and then he went through the border here in uh michigan in detroit went across the border no he went over to he went across the country to marry some uh woman i think i don't know if it was if she was uh albanian or something like that like he went to albania or something Like, I married this woman, and they found out that he was there because they went and they looked at his computer records, and they found out that the guy was online prior to talking to a girl over there.

03:02:29 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay.

03:02:30 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but he literally left behind a wife and kids and all this stuff. Wow, that's crazy. Isn't that nuts? Like, you must really want a piece of ass that you're going to give up your entire life. Like, no joke, like, I could never give up my kids. I would never do that.

03:02:47 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 2:

Hell no.

03:02:47 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 1:

but depending on what she looked like, no, no, I, like I could never give up, you know, the ability to be able to eat at, you know, the restaurants I like to eat, you know, I can't give up my whole life.

03:03:00 - 03:03:05 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's kind of crazy, but what would the, what would I do without the lodge?

03:03:05 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 1:

I know. I don't care. I'm not going to Albania. Couples are more likely to have baby boys than girls when they have sex at this time of the month. Many couples have tried to conceive baby boys, but a British magician, mathematician, Hannah Fry, suggests getting out your calendar and looking to history. She concluded that when you scale up the size of the population, this is the pattern that becomes really clear. Women get pregnant slightly earlier in their cycles, and as a result, there is a spike in the number of baby boys that are born at that time. So if you're early in the cycle, then that's where you're going to get the boy in your life.

03:03:58 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 3:

Interesting, because isn't it the sperm that decides the sex of the baby? I have no idea. I'm 90% sure it's the dudes that decide the sex of the baby.

03:04:06 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 1:

I remember when we were, you know, having the boys, like, we wanted a girl really bad. Like, obviously, you know, we tried, like, we thought for sure.

03:04:15 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 6:

There's, like, different people say, oh, you should do this position or, oh, you should do it at this time of day.

03:04:19 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 1:

After we had Jacob, and I remember we moved to Michigan, there was some doctor that was at U of M that people kept telling us, you know, if you go there, you can actually, you know, work. I don't know who it was.

03:04:32 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 6:

Choose the sex?

03:04:32 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can choose the sex.

03:04:33 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 6:

Right.

03:04:34 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 1:

Can you do that? Is it work?

03:04:35 - 03:04:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I thought you could do that, though. You can do that. Really? I don't know what the rate is of getting the gender you want. I don't know how I feel about that.

03:04:43 - 03:04:50 | Speaker 1:

I would feel like I'm messing with God's plan, and then all of a sudden I'd find out that the kid's got, like, three arms or something like that. You know what I mean?

03:04:50 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 4:

It's because you're, like, in vitro, right? Like, you freeze a bunch of embryos, and they can say you have, like, ten boys and six girls. I think so.

03:04:56 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 6:

I've never done it, so I can't speak to it, but I think you're right. Right.

03:05:00 - 03:05:06 | Speaker 8:

say put in some of the boys um divorce is this is one we're gonna look at shannon now everybody

03:05:06 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 4:

look at chance i know whenever ever whenever anybody says divorce everybody just looks down

03:05:11 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 8:

oh let's go to the divorce authority on divorce shannon ready divorce is bad for your face photos of photos of identical oh i disagree and i'll tell you why photos of identical twins who live very different lives, highlighting their damaging effects of smoking, bad diet, divorce, and son on their face show the difference that the divorced woman, the divorced sister, has because of the divorce and how it changed over time. Researchers found that women who have been divorced look older than their married or single counterparts. What do you mean?

03:05:50 - 03:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, I disagree with that because when I was married the first time around, it was frowned upon to get Botox. And so as soon as those divorce papers were filed, what do you think the first thing I did was?

03:06:02 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 8:

Oh, really? Got Botox. You just go for the Botox.

03:06:05 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 4:

So I definitely look a little younger.

03:06:07 - 03:06:12 | Speaker 8:

Wait, you couldn't have Botox at all? No. Wait, by the way, frowned upon.

03:06:14 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 4:

A little bit harder for me to frown. No. Frown, that's it. Frown.

03:06:17 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 8:

You know what you do? You say that it's for headache purposes. You're doing it for headache purposes.

03:06:23 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 4:

I actually do get Botox in my masseters to stop myself from grinding my teeth. And it has worked beautifully.

03:06:29 - 03:06:30 | Speaker 8:

Really?

03:06:30 - 03:06:35 | Speaker 4:

Yes. A lot of dentists will do it now, too. Right here. I've done it. Yeah. It worked amazing. Yeah.

03:06:36 - 03:07:04 | Speaker 8:

All right. That's all I got time for. Wait. Happy birthday to Tom Izzo. Are you serious? Yeah. He turned 70 today. Oh, wow. That's a big one. And what was this? Luke sent this to me. The winningest college coaches in the Big Ten Conference, Tom Izzo is one win away from tying the legend Bobby Knight from Indiana University at 353 wins. Two wins, obviously, from overtaking as the winningest coach in the Big Ten. Let's go.

03:07:04 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 7:

Our next two games are on the road. So it's kind of like, ah, we want to win those two games. How incredible would it be to celebrate at the Breslin?

03:07:11 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 8:

Is it a West Coast trip?

03:07:12 - 03:07:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we play USC tomorrow, and I think it's some other. UCLA after that, yeah.

03:07:17 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 8:

Wow. That's the weirdest part about the Big Ten and how they changed everything where all these teams from the West Coast and the Pac-10 are now there. All right, have a great day, guys. We're back tomorrow. Tomorrow's Friday. Oh, my God. Oh, thank you, Lord and baby Jesus. Friday, throwback, throwdown. Cash to give away from Imagine Theaters. We'll give you an opportunity for that. Mike's going for another win. He'll be back on with us tomorrow. Will Shannon and Megan get on the board this year? They haven't yet. We'll find out tomorrow morning. Plus, a trip to Florida, one last qualifier for that to win a trip to Fort Myers at 7.30. We'll see you then. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:08:01 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 1:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

03:09:12 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 3:

My name is Patrick Pettway, and I am getting my Associates of Science and General Education with an emphasis in business administration. To me, it was a no-brainer. When you go out here and you're looking for funding to go back to college as a 40-year-old man, I got six people in my household. The extra money just doesn't just grow out of trees. For me to be able to be accepted through FAFSA and to have Bishop State pay for all of my tuition, Not only that, but the curriculums, you know, they make it so easy to understand on their website. Like I said, I'm a 40-year-old man, so I don't use technology too much, but it was very understandable where I needed to go. It was extremely fast. These past two years, things have just moved in a total different type of way. It's like its own moving entity to see things manifest the way that they do.
