good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it is war of the roses tuesdays here on the show and today it's something out of i don't know porn i guess It is a girlfriend who thinks that her boyfriend is way too close to his sister. It's actually stepsister. And this morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show, we do a three-way call. I don't believe we've ever done this before. But this morning you will hear it and wait till you hear what happens during that call. That is happening this morning at 740-ish, right after we get done giving you a chance to win a trip to Florida. We're going to Panama City, Florida. A little spring break action. Get ready. That is happening. And then we got a bunch of stuff this hour for you. Back in the days, giving away some good prizes.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

We got those Monster Jam tickets. We'll do the Dirty and the 5 at 655 to test your knowledge of pop culture and an upset that happened yesterday. That was a good one. So make sure that you're listening. New champ this morning in the 5 at 655. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Shannon would like to start off with a Shannon Minute.

00:05:21 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I've ever done one.

00:05:23 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

What do we call yours? If we got Megan Minute, we got to think of something. A Shannon, I was going to say, I almost said the word. No, Spitstorm. I was going to say, I almost said Shannon Spitstorm.

00:05:33 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 2:

I like that. Okay, I am so frustrated and blown away by this, but how is it that there are a bunch of grown adults who work in this office, this beautiful new office in Eastern Market for iHeartMedia Detroit, and people are still stealing food that does not belong to them? I will end you up, bitch. I want... i bring i go to the grocery store and i buy k-cups and liquid iv pouches do you know what liquid iv is you add it to your water it's electrolytes i it takes me a long time to find specifically the bomb pop flavor which i have found at a very certain target so i bring in boxes of these various things i write my name on them in the big the fat sharpie okay so it is very apparent that they say shan across them yet i'm coming in in the morning and a brand new box of k-cups has two left and this has been happening over and over again for the past couple of weeks so last week i decided i was like okay i'm gonna multi-factor authentication my k-cups and my liquid iv and so not only do they say my name on the front but they both both boxes now have sticky notes on them where you can like open up the the lid or whatever like open up the side to get into them then the sticky notes say stop these our these are not yours or like something i don't even know what i wrote on both of them but it still i went in this morning and there are four liquid iv pouches left of a brand new box what in the actual f you know these are

00:07:18 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

not yours there's a problem with our building where we get enough free stuff that like it does get a little bit confusing as to what is for grabs and what isn't with you you labeled it so it's like they're still at fault they're still at fault but i remember the other day i threw in i had walked to a convenience store in eastern market and grabbed a few red balls and i came back here and i just threw them in the fridge because i was afraid they were going to explode in my car so i was like i'll throw them in the fridge here and at the end of the day i'll take them home with me and at the end of the day there were two missing and i was like those were like eight dollars like They're like $4 each.

00:07:50 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 4:

There's no, like, and the funny thing is, I don't think we get food, but we put it up on this table.

00:07:55 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:07:55 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Like, that's where it usually goes. And if it goes in the refrigerator, by the time it goes in the refrigerator, it's been sitting out long enough, it's got listeria. Yeah.

00:08:03 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:03 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 4:

But the people that grab, like, cans of things or yours, the packages of things.

00:08:08 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

That have someone else's name clearly on them.

00:08:11 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what you need to do. You made a mistake. You should have not put your name on the box. You should put your name on each individually wrapped. It doesn't matter.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

They don't care.

00:08:19 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 4:

But the problem is, though, you see the name on there, whoever's holding it in their hand, then we need to have like Citizens of Restaurant here. If you see somebody with one, you have to go, hold on, we're going to go see Shannon here right now.

00:08:32 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 2:

I know it sounds so dumb and petty. No, it's not. But every morning, it puts me in such a bad mood where I'm like, what?

00:08:38 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 4:

We need to figure out who it is.

00:08:39 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 3:

I just put these in here.

00:08:42 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we need to put a ring cam. You know what? I am ordering a ring cam. I'm ordering a ring cam right to the building. We're going to find out. Can I door dash a ring cam right to us?

00:08:52 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

I think I have two. Don't even spend your money. I think I have two that I'm not using at home. Are you sure? Yeah, I'm going to bring one.

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 4:

I was going to do it right now and let everybody see them. We're going to put it in there right now.

00:09:03 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 1:

It's driving me so crazy. I don't think we can film our coworkers. I don't care. Who cares?

00:09:08 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

We can do what we want.

00:09:09 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Colleen will give us permission.

00:09:10 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Man, when I used to work at Quicken, we caught someone. It was a member of the cleaning staff. after we were working late at night. Like, I walk in there. I was, you know, staying super late. It was like 10 p.m. She was in the refrigerator, like, looking through lunchboxes.

00:09:23 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Are you claiming? Hello, everybody. No. Are you claiming? No. I'm not pointing anything here. I saw her yesterday. She pulled me aside yesterday, and she's like, Mojo, you need to talk to the powers that be. I am very upset that this radio station only has these toilets. You know what she said after that?

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

But the Bomb Pop Keurig.

00:09:44 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:09:44 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 1:

My Red Bulls were like a certain flavor that they only have like for a couple of weeks at a couple of locations. And when you deep dive and get that, like, I want to stab you. It took me hours. to find that and i don't want to be 12 years old and have to hide my stuff so that people don't

00:10:06 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

right take it hold on a second here hold on i'm gonna i'm i'm uh face and i'm facetiming the traffic department here i'm going all the way to the we have a we have the davida good morning how are you hey shannon is uh saying that uh some of her personal items that she has in the kitchen are getting stolen you and your shady group of people back there was it you we're the shady ones yes exactly you're the shady ones you guys come in here in the middle of the night

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 1:

That's mine. Those are free for all.

00:10:56 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 5:

She's losing, she said, some of her Keurig cups and what was it?

00:11:01 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

The liquid IV packets.

00:11:02 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 5:

And liquid IV packets are going. You guys aren't stealing any of those, are you?

00:11:07 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

No. We in the shady area, we have to bring our own coffee.

00:11:12 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

00:11:13 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:11:13 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what?

00:11:14 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

We just don't have to use our own coffee.

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:11:17 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

And we try to stay out of the way.

00:11:21 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 5:

All right. Well, listen, watch out because there's going to be a ring camera set up there in about five minutes. How great is it to work in the same building with Davida again? Having Davida here. I love you, Davida. Good morning. We love you, Davida. You're the best. We'll talk to you later. We'll let you get back to traffic and all that stuff. See ya. Bye. Go Cast Egg Football. Yes. Hold on one second. Michelle, what's up, Michelle? How you doing?

00:11:46 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Michelle. Hello, guys.

00:11:48 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

00:11:48 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

How you doing? Good morning. What the H, Shannon?

00:11:52 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 5:

Right? I mean, this is craziness.

00:11:54 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so we're putting the camera in the refrigerator because this is insane.

00:11:59 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, hey, let me just say this. Shannon, she knows, you know, that she's about as generous as anybody. There's probably nobody on the show that's more generous than Shannon.

00:12:09 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

You would take that. Well, but, no. I'm not going to the grocery store for these folks every day and every week.

00:12:15 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 5:

She had, you know how many kids she's got now in her house with getting married with other, she's got 18 kids in that house.

00:12:22 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Seven dogs. Seriously. You can't keep track anymore. You can't afford to. But I can keep track of how many K-Cups I have. I know every day when I leave how many I have. You sound psychotic.

00:12:33 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I'm telling you. When I used to work at the hospital, I used to hate that. So I've been working from home since COVID. But it's like I used to take stuff to work. I'd be like, I'd be so pissed.

00:12:43 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 1:

I'd be like, who ate my stuff? It is that dumb thing that can put you in a bad mood for the day instantly in the morning. It's stupid, and I know.

00:12:53 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

You have the best day. By the way, real quick, did you say her name was Michelle or Nisha? What did you say?

00:12:57 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

Let's watch what Rhonda comes out of the kitchen with.

00:12:59 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, we love you. We love you. Okay. Wait, Shannon, what did you say?

00:13:02 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 1:

There's Rhonda walking into the kitchen.

00:13:04 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 5:

If she comes out with it, hold on. Lydia, you're the closest to that area. If she walks out with Shannon's stuff, tackle that girl.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 3:

Do we have a wireless mic? That bitch is going down. I love it. Do we have a wireless mic?

00:13:20 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 5:

No, we need a wireless.

00:13:23 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 4:

I do have a wireless mic.

00:13:24 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 1:

No, for the board.

00:13:25 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, like we could just go right out there right now. You can call on your phone. Go on your phone. I'll pick it up on the phone.

00:13:30 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to go?

00:13:31 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, you can't because you got crutches. I feel like she's going to get a phone. How are you going to? I could go. It would take me like five days. Yeah. Somebody go. Here, hold on. Nikki. What's up, Nikki? Nikki, it's Mojo in the morning. Hey, how you doing, guys? Good morning. What's going on?

00:13:44 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 2:

My husband used to always get his lunch stolen from work, and so I started putting it in a regular grocery bag and writing stuff like a riddle's poop sample for the vet on there but they were still getting stolen even then so one day my husband caught the guy because i put something in his lunch it was these marty's candies that you cannot get in the united states a friend of them had brought them back from canada because he knew i loved them and jules caught the guys standing there eating them like he just grabbed them at the corner store, and he called him out, and the dude got busted.

00:14:22 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I love it. You know what? Put Ex-Lax in it, and then we'll find out who it is. Hold on. Megan's going out there. Megan, we go live right now on the streets to our investigative reporter, Megan Mick. Megan, hello. Hi.

00:14:36 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

Hello. I'm glad to be here this morning.

00:14:40 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 5:

Do we have Ronda? Is Ronda there?

00:14:45 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 2:

You guys are here. The arbitrator is in the room with me.

00:14:48 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 5:

Rhonda, you did this back in the day too, Rhonda, and we accused you of this. We want to make sure you're not taking any of Shannon's stuff out of that room, are you?

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 8:

No, as a matter of fact, her name's on it, and I bring my own coffee.

00:15:03 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 7:

Oh, see? My own spirit cup.

00:15:05 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 6:

All right, so she knows. But maybe she noticed because she's been swiping a few. Yeah, how do you know that her name is on there? Are you sure?

00:15:13 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 8:

Well, I don't know. Let's see.

00:15:14 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 7:

Open the cupboard, and it says Shannon.

00:15:17 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it is cute. Okay, all right.

00:15:19 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 7:

And check out the Post-it note on the back, please. I'm not effing around.

00:15:24 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God.

00:15:25 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 6:

What does it say on the back?

00:15:26 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 8:

Stop. These are not yours. Well, you know, funny you say that, because I put a bottle, when I go to work out after work, I put a bottled water in the fridge, it's all, somebody stole that, somebody stole my rubble, and now you know what I do, if I do that, I drink out of it and put my lipstick all over it.

00:15:47 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's a good idea, you know what, leave your mark.

00:15:50 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 8:

I want to tell you something, Shannon, I do want to tell you something, though. It's funny because I have, I bought, and I keep my coffee at home and just bring the two Keurig cups I want to use in the morning. Yeah. But I, I bought the Dunkin' at Walmart, don't like the coffee, and I thought, ooh, I should give this to Shannon because I don't like it.

00:16:12 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 7:

That's my favorite kind. I'm going to bring it to you tomorrow to prove. She's talking too much. Yeah. She's talking too much.

00:16:19 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, your lawyers would tell you, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you. All right, Rhonda, we love you.

00:16:26 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 8:

No, I don't think it's Rhonda.

00:16:26 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 6:

No, I love you.

00:16:27 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 8:

I've got to be honest, I would admit it, and as a matter of fact, I would ask her.

00:16:31 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 7:

I'm like, Shannon, could I steal a cup of coffee? No, she's honest. And that's the other thing. If somebody asked me, I'd be like, yeah, of course.

00:16:37 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second, hold on. Ken, what did you do, Ken?

00:16:42 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 4:

I used to work at a factory, and I'd bring those big, you know, 12 hours. I'd bring one of those big orange coolers in, you know, that you would see like at a soccer game or something like that. I'd fill it full of Kool-Aid. Well, by lunch, it would be over half gone, and I couldn't figure out who was drinking it. And I said, you guys want to share the money? No, no, no, we're not drinking your stuff. So the next day, I filled it up with cherry Kool-Aid, put a big old bottle of cherry X-Flax in there. And then I just sat back and watched.

00:17:12 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 6:

That's how you do it.

00:17:14 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Just right before lunch, the machine shut down and, like, four of these guys went hauling ass up the...

00:17:20 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 6:

You're the smartest man ever. Ken, that's fantastic. Thanks, buddy, for listening. I appreciate you, man. How smart are you?

00:17:31 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:37 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 6:

A cheating scandal hit. Who wants to be a millionaire global in this year?

00:17:44 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 3:

The plan was that Wittert would signal correct answers with a cough.

00:17:49 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm going to go for a full bite. I think if I had to guess, and I can, I'd take Cricket. Wow.

00:18:00 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 6:

Sure is a hand. That seems so obvious, doesn't it? By the way, what was the game show where the guy did cheat? Wasn't there that one game show where it was a movie? It turned into a movie back in the day.

00:18:12 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Was it Wheel of Fortune? No. There was, like, a way that he was figuring out the... No, you're thinking of The Price is Right, where the guy memorized all the prices because they were rotating through prizes, and he, like, memorized everything. Yeah, yes.

00:18:24 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 6:

But there was a movie based on this whole thing that happened, like, way back when, where somebody actually did a scandal like that. Princess Diaries was the big movie.

00:18:32 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 2:

I look like a moose. Yes, but a very cute moose. They called the boy moose.

00:18:37 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 6:

And the big song from Pink. What year was it? Good luck.

00:18:49 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 5:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. What year was this?

00:19:18 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 6:

Cheating scandal on who wants to be a millionaire, the worldwide edition.

00:19:23 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 3:

The plan was that Wittek would signal correct answers with a cough.

00:19:29 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm going to go for a whole bite. I think if I had to guess, and I can't, I think I'd take cricket.

00:19:39 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure as I had.

00:19:41 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to do the same technique with the 5 at 6.55. I'm going to try it today. The Princess Diaries was the big movie.

00:19:47 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 2:

I look like a moose.

00:19:49 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 6:

Yes, but a very cute moose. Make all the boy moose go. And Pink with the big song. What year was it? We'll set you up with a prize.

00:20:00 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 2:

What year was that?

00:20:02 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 3:

That was 2001.

00:20:04 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:20:05 - 00:20:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:20:06 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 2:

What gave it away?

00:20:08 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 3:

That was Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. My family loved that show.

00:20:12 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 2:

You Googled it, didn't you? Come on, be honest.

00:20:15 - 00:20:16 | Speaker 4:

I did not.

00:20:16 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 2:

You did, too. There is no way that you go, oh, I remember that. That happened in 2001. I don't buy it.

00:20:24 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 4:

I remember my family was so up in arms about it.

00:20:27 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and who was the host of that, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

00:20:32 - 00:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't remember the host. I just remember the scandal.

00:20:35 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

That, by the way, and it wasn't the scandal of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Regis one. That was the scandal of the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, the worldwide one. They had, like, different versions of that show. Remember, who was the other one, too? Didn't they have a daytime version of the show with the lady from The View?

00:20:48 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Was it Meredith Vieira?

00:20:49 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah. We're setting you up with the prize. Hang on the phone for just one second. I want you to don't go anywhere. Monster Jam is happening. At Ford Field, we're going to give you four tickets to go to Monster Jam. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com. Right now, we're going to give you a shot at winning tickets to see Tate McRae. 00:21:21 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:21:23 - 00:21:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, with What's Trending this morning, Starting us off with our Dirty on the 30s today. What's going on?

00:21:29 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you heard this rumor yesterday, it is true. Former President Joe Biden has signed with CAA, the creative artist agency, the Hollywood mega talent agency that also reps former President Barack Obama, former First Lady Michelle Obama, and like every A-lister ever. What's he going to do? A book? Maybe. So, CAA announced the deal yesterday, and they basically said he's, you know, one of the most influential voices in national and global affairs, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I thought the whole thing was strange until I learned that Biden was actually repped by CAA prior to becoming president. So, this is a thing. So, it's not news? It's a thing for former presidents to have some sort of, quote, unquote, Hollywood representation in the event that they do. Speaking engagements, books. I mean, look at the Obamas. They've got, you know, all of these Netflix deals or whatever.

00:22:23 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 2:

Maybe he will be also doing it on Cameo and he'll be singing happy birthday to him.

00:22:30 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 3:

I mean, honestly, it doesn't get old.

00:22:32 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine if you could get a happy birthday message sent by the former president?

00:22:42 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 3:

I heard one of the news guys this morning on my way in because I'm 90 and I listened to the news on the way in. So I know like what's going on. But he clearly didn't know how to pronounce the name of a road during traffic. And he was like, and there's an accident. And it reminded me so much of a Biden happy birthday. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft released a new Super Bowl ad via his foundation to combat anti-Semitism. In which Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady are breaking down how the reasons for hate are as stupid as they sound.

00:23:16 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 4:

I hate you because we're from different neighborhoods. I hate you because you look different. I hate you because I don't understand you. I hate you because people I know hate you. I hate you because I think you hate me. Because I need someone to blame. Because you talk different. Because you act different. Because you're just different. Man, I hate that things are so bad that we have to do a commercial about it. Me too.

00:23:45 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 3:

That's good to add. By the way, Kraft said he chose...

00:23:47 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. He lost your mojo years ago. You hear me? Now resign and be fired. As Donald Trump would say, you're fired. Do I drop the mic now?

00:24:00 - 00:24:00 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:24:00 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 3:

He said he chose Brady and Snoop in particular because it was important to have two people from seemingly different walks of life to relay this very important campaign message.

00:24:10 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 2:

Snoop, stay working, boy. Man, he makes so much money, doesn't he? He's everywhere.

00:24:14 - 00:24:21 | Speaker 3:

He never turned down a chick. He's everywhere. I feel like he's the new Betty White. I'm not joking. Like, he's just everywhere. He's beloved.

00:24:21 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Halftime show. You think he will make an appearance with Kendrick?

00:24:25 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. I think Kendrick really didn't like how Snoop Dogg reposted and reacted to a Drake AI song that he released during the film. Oh, really? And he mentioned that in his album, and he kind of gave him unk status in the past, but I don't see him bringing him out at all.

00:24:41 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 3:

Perfect segue, by the way, because my next story is about Drake. God, good. I got you. Drake and Party Next Door announcing their collab album Sexy Songs for You that is set for release next Friday, February 14th so Valentine's Day you can see the teaser for it on Drake's Instagram page

00:24:57 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 1:

let's get it oh my god And lastly, I don't know how much I believe this, but it is trending on TikTok right now. So I'm just sharing. This girl is warning white Americans who vacation in Mexico, particularly at all inclusive resorts in places like Cancun, that Mexicans are ready to spit in your food and drinks because they're mad about America's new border policy.

00:25:23 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 3:

All I got to say is, if you're American, very pale American, I hope you don't have plans for spring break in Mexico because there's a lot of people that are mad right now. And among other things, you wouldn't want them spitting in your food.

00:25:44 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting.

00:25:47 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 1:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. He received himself.

00:28:40 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 1:

Nice job, Nick. Four out of five.

00:28:42 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Four out of five, and he would have had a perfect score, but he had kind of an interesting one. But all right, here we go, Danny. Question number one. While Kanye and Bianca were turning heads with their outfits at the Grammy Awards, Kim Kardashian was spotted taking her oldest son, Saint, to the movies. How many sons does Kim have with Kanye?

00:29:05 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 1:

Two.

00:29:06 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, two.

00:29:07 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 1:

One to nothing.

00:29:09 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 2:

Saint and psalm. That might cost you, Nick. Question number two. On this day in 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched this social media platform from his Harvard hotel room. What's it called?

00:29:22 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 3:

Facebook.

00:29:23 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Two to one. Question number three. We are quickly approaching Valentine's Day. True or false, the holiday always falls on the same day every year, February 14th. Two. Yes. Three to two. She's got to miss these next two questions, buddy, to make you a winner. You get at least one of them, Danny, you're winning with a tie. You got your second win in a row. Question number four. Yesterday, actress Lily Collins shared the first photo of her new baby girl, who is Lily's super famous musician father.

00:30:00 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. I don't know. Pass. I'm sorry. Oh, wow. Phil Collins, the singer Phil Collins. Three to three. It comes down to this. If you get this right, you'll win with a tie. If you miss it, you're one and done, and Nick is coming back tomorrow. So, question number five, Dog Man has the top spot at the box office right now. The animated film borrows voices from a ton of celebrities, including this former SNL star who is also famous for being engaged to Ariana Grande. Who is he? Three seconds.

00:30:48 - 00:30:48 | Unknown:

Three.

00:30:48 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 1:

Can you repeat that? I didn't, I'm sorry. Dog Man was number one at the box office. It stars this former SNL star who is also famous for being engaged to Ariana Grande. Who is he? Pete. Pete. Pete Davidson. Pete Davidson. Oh, my God. We got a new champion. Yeah, we do. Oh, wow. Three, four. Yeah. That's good. Wow. That's unreal. That is un-freaking-real. Damn, Daniel. Wow, wow, wow. All right, here's the deal. You're back with us tomorrow, Nick. Nice work, my friend. Heck yeah, thank you guys. I appreciate it. All right, tomorrow morning, same time, same place. Let's make it as suspenseful as today, and we'll have ourselves some fun, okay? Hey, real quick, Mojo. Yes, bud. I was the one that did the Friday remix with Kev at the hotel party. Oh, my God. I love you. What's up, man? Hey, guys. We love you, man. We haven't talked to you in a while. It's nice to have you back on. Thanks for doing this, man. Yes. You too. I can't wait. I'm so excited. We'll see you tomorrow, man. Hey, we got a parting gift for you. You know what? It was worth your while, Danny. You got a $50 Kroger gift card. Congratulations. Thank you. Hang on one second, okay? It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live. Mojo in the Morning Show. I knew I was going to get burned off of this one, but remember yesterday at this time, I was talking about how we got trips to Panama City so that you can go to spring break, and I talked about how Luke still hasn't booked his spring break. Guess what he booked last night? His spring break. Chelsea was right. Us talking about it just reminded him. I think that she might be a little bit mad at me. Not mad at me, but she was kind of like, I'm hoping that he wasn't going to do a spring break, you know. So does that mean Chelsea's going? I don't think so. I don't know. I never know. Let's put it this way. But if she does go, it will make for epic radio if she does. Because I think that we would have some good stories to tell. And maybe what we do is we send her and we have her wired with sound. Yes. A little correspondent. It would be great. Yeah. So he's booked it. It's Mojo in the Morning. You know what I think, though? I think that kids these days don't have it as good as we had it. And listen to what I'm saying. Because I know that we all think that these kids these days have it so good. And I would love to grow up to be a kid right now, only because you got everything at the palm of your hands. Like, you don't need to do anything.

00:33:47 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 1:

It's all, you know, technology-based. Everything is good, right? But you keep breathing like that. What is going on? Are you making fun of me? You just cracking me up, dude. I'm not putting you in the kid's category anymore, by the way. You're now in that category. You haven't for a while. Yeah. Okay. All right. So let me just say why that I don't believe that you have it as good as you did in our days. We're now officially that, guys. You can't throw a house party without getting busted. Friends of ours kid threw a house party. They were out of town over the weekend. They went out of town for a wedding over the weekend. And with ring cameras, you can't throw a house party anymore. Like it used to be back in the day, you could Project X that bitch, you know? And nowadays, you can't. And my friends sent me audio, which is so funny, of their son throwing a little party. And you could hear him on the ring camera saying, don't turn around, don't turn around, they'll see your face on the ring camera. Like he knew he was having people over, and he was having a bunch, but he didn't want her mom to know who exactly it was. Identifying faces. So he didn't want facial recognition to get involved. the whole deal. And I was thinking nowadays, that's so true. And maybe if you're, um, what's Wes's, uh, son's name? Karen, Karen, Karen, can you do me a favor here? Do a poll around school. How do you throw parties in high school? Cause I want to know how you're going to

00:35:17 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 7:

throw a party at, uh, Wes and Shannon. We have so many cameras. And the thing that I think a lot of people don't think about is even if your house doesn't have a ring cam or Nest Cam or whatever the heck, all your neighbors probably do.

00:35:31 - 00:35:46 | Speaker 3:

So my first argument to this was going to be, who has more cameras than at, like, your front door? Because that's all than I ever had. Like, sneak them into the basement window like we used to do. And now I'm thinking, oh, yeah, everybody has one. Around you. Right.

00:35:46 - 00:35:51 | Speaker 7:

So even if it's not you and your parents suspect something, they're going to, you know, call Dan and Keith.

00:35:51 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 6:

Next door up. For the cameras that are in your place, though, What would you do if you saw Kieran, like, spray painting the camera or, like, putting a little sticker over the lens so you couldn't see anything?

00:36:06 - 00:36:21 | Speaker 7:

Nothing gets past Wes. I don't have the notifications on my phone for the cameras. Wes does. So anytime, like, even when I come home from work, he's like, welcome home. Hope you have a great nap. Like, he knows everything that's happening in the house.

00:36:21 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 1:

See, Chelsea thinks that's weird that I do that. I think it's weird, too. Chelsea thinks it's weird that I'll check the cameras because you can see on ours, it's been viewed. And so she thinks when I see the camera go off, it's weird that I check it. But I check it because not so much that I want to see what she's doing, but I want to make sure she's safe. So I want to make sure she's okay and, you know, or make sure she's not, you know. Bringing somebody in. Well, no. Smashing the gun. Now you're making me nervous. I want to make sure she's safe, but I also want to make sure that nobody is like following her in or any of that stuff. Like, you know, I get all weird about that. And as far as the spray painting, the cameras thing. Do you know that Luke was telling me a story about one of his buddies that threw a party back when he was at Notre Dame Prep in high school? And the guy got a he bought a jammer to jam the Wi-Fi connection. Wow. Yeah. Like these kids are smart. Yeah. I mean, these kids, these kids know stuff that we don't know.

00:37:17 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 3:

You're not hardwiring yours in, though. I also think it's hysterical that I still have the ring account and only have the access to the ring at my brother's house, which is my old house. So I have to call him when the doorbell rings. And he's like, somebody's at the front door.

00:37:29 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You've got to switch that. That's annoying. We don't have a speaker inside. It's just the phone notification and nobody knocks. So I'm like, somebody's at the front door.

00:37:37 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 1:

You've got to go get it. What's up, Vinny? Hi. Hey, what's up? First time, long time.

00:37:41 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Hey. There it is. But to have a party, though. So all you got to do is turn the Wi-Fi off.

00:37:50 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's it. Yeah, so you can actually go and just unplug the Wi-Fi, right? Unplug the router?

00:37:56 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, easy peasy. See, we even get a notification when our Wi-Fi goes off. Yeah. We get notifications for everything.

00:38:02 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 6:

But are these kids able to vibe? Are they able to put their phones down? You call it a party, but you still look around and people on their phone.

00:38:09 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the thing, Vinny. You turn off the Wi-Fi, they're pissed at you because your house got spotty Wi-Fi.

00:38:14 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, how do you get the music playing?

00:38:16 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 1:

That is true.

00:38:17 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 6:

You know, old school, playlists, you know, CDs, MP3s. You'll figure it out.

00:38:22 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 1:

These kids don't even know what CDs mean. Nah. What's up, Jody? What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

00:38:29 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys.

00:38:30 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

Morning. What's happening?

00:38:31 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying you can't get away with it. My daughter, she's 18 now, but when she was about 16, she would actually, like, with the ring cameras, you have that. Well, I have blinks, but there's a little cord that hooks up by the TV to have it, you know, connect to the Wi-Fi. And she would unplug that little thing from the little modem and play off like the Wi-Fi was out or it was showing like no activity.

00:38:59 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 1:

Man, she was smart.

00:39:00 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 4:

See, then you're busted. You plug it back in.

00:39:03 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you have to at least give her credit that you raised a smart young woman. Yeah. You know?

00:39:09 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Right.

00:39:10 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 1:

She figured that out. Her mom didn't raise a sucker. What's up, Poncho? We haven't heard from you in a while. What's going on, Poncho? Oh, we lost Poncho. Well, then we're not going to hear from you for a while. Todd, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

00:39:24 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say you changed your IP on the router, and then you reconnected devices to that IP.

00:39:30 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Why are you giving advice to these kids? We want them to have, you know, come on, what are you doing?

00:39:35 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but cybersecurity is such a valuable career in the future.

00:39:38 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 5:

That's how you do it. But now all the cameras are failing because they're connected to the IP, the original IP.

00:39:43 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

All right. Todd, you don't have any kids, do you, that are teenagers?

00:39:47 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 5:

No, not zero. Yeah.

00:39:49 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, one day you're going to regret that you just said.

00:39:52 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 5:

You don't want to get on the radio? That's too much? Yeah. I got it. People don't need to know that.

00:39:56 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, can I bring up something else that I think is a little shady, too? What about.

00:40:00 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 3:

with the couples i i've seen this a lot that have cameras in their house in all the rooms i hate that like people that have like i get the idea that you're outside security you want to make sure that nothing's going on but what about the people that have them inside of their home and unless it's watching their little babies like a nest or a baby camera or something yeah you're watching it's like you're watching each other but what does somebody break in no we used to have

00:40:24 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

that because we used to have it in the you guys have been to my house that front room because it was the only way that we could get a good view of like the entire outside and now we have two two or three separate cameras right there on each of the doors but my friends were so weary of like they didn't like hanging out in that room because they were like everything we talk about is on camera and I I get it like I got it somebody break into your house though but got the footage but

00:40:50 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 3:

there are I know people and couples that have it like in their home so they can watch who's sitting on the couch and what people are doing and it's like that's just a trust thing i think i mean that's

00:41:01 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 2:

not stealing or anything well i mean i think the idea well some people i mean i can't speak for everybody but i know some people who have them in their homes because they have been broken into before and you have it for insurance purposes or you have that safety factor but what ends up happening is you treat it like reality tv yeah and if you do live with people you just pull it up and

00:41:19 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

see what's going on it's weird poncho's back and poncho you say that you have the cameras you have them in your kitchen and living room. Why do you have cameras in your kitchen and living room?

00:41:29 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 6:

I have one in the living room in the dining slash kitchen for security purposes. But what's

00:41:35 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

what are you worried about? Somebody stealing your Doritos?

00:41:38 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 6:

No, for reasons of an ex. An ex? Really?

00:41:43 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 3:

And you're afraid the ex is going to break in your house and do something?

00:41:48 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 1:

A little bit, yeah. Okay. That's understandable to me.

00:41:51 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 3:

But if they're breaking in, you're going to see them breaking into the house, aren't you?

00:41:54 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 1:

What's the camera stopping?

00:41:56 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 6:

That's what the camera's for. That way we know if they break in, we know who stole all of the stuff.

00:42:00 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:42:01 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Has she broken in before?

00:42:03 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 3:

It's a he, right? Or he?

00:42:06 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, they had not. I mean, she's forced her way in before, so that's the main reason we have him. But, yes.

00:42:12 - 00:42:12 | Unknown:

Got you.

00:42:12 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

I thought, is this the poncho we always talk to, or is this a different poncho?

00:42:17 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 2:

No, it's the same poncho. You got to shoot that bitch.

00:42:19 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 3:

Poncho. I thought you were gay. Are you, or do you buy?

00:42:25 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 6:

No, I am gay.

00:42:27 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. But you're talking about the exes, she.

00:42:30 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 6:

Correct. How dare you ever date a woman? Yeah. You're supposed to be gay. I'm trying to be vague about it because I don't know if she listens or not.

00:42:37 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. All right. So is he doing like his own subversion of voice disguiser or something like that? Is that what it is? I'm thinking by itself, that would actually, I would turn gay if I had a girl that was that crazy and was coming after me. That's what it is. What's going on, Elaine? How you doing?

00:42:55 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I was going to make a comment on the cameras in the house.

00:42:58 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:43:00 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 5:

My husband and I, we have cameras in, like, all of our rooms in our house, but it's just literally to watch our dogs. And whenever we go out of town, my brother-in-law stays at our house to watch them, and he just flips all the cameras face down. So we can't creep on him. Yeah.

00:43:16 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 3:

I'd worry about the sound. That's more so than even what you're seeing of me. What's up, Nikki? How you doing?

00:43:22 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, good morning, everybody. Good morning. You don't know my life, Mojo. I have to have cameras in the kitchen and in the living room by the back door upstairs in the bedroom. Because I'm supposed to be kids.

00:43:37 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 3:

That's great.

00:43:38 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 4:

They do not do what they're supposed to be doing.

00:43:41 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 3:

How old are your kids, Nikki?

00:43:44 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, they're grown now, but now it's a habit. Now I just know it.

00:43:47 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 3:

I like it. Watch out for mom. We love you. Thanks for calling, Nikki. We love you. Hold on. Christy, what did you catch on your in-home camera?

00:43:57 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 7:

So my husband, well, my son had the day off from school, and he had some buddies over, and our camera is downstairs in our family room, and my husband caught my son smoking weed in our family room. Oh, in the house?

00:44:11 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, yeah, I was mad. That wasn't smart.

00:44:14 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

00:44:15 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 3:

That wasn't smart. What did he do?

00:44:17 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 7:

He's a boy, and he's a teenager. Teenage boys aren't smart anyway, so.

00:44:21 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Did you show it to him, or did you go home right away and say something?

00:44:25 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I worked probably about half an hour away, and I called him. I said, what are you doing? He was like, nothing. I was like, oh, BS. And I told him what, and yeah, he knew he was caught.

00:44:35 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wow. That is interesting. It is interesting. I mean, there were so many times where our kids would sneak things in and out, sneak people in and out, you know, over time.

00:44:46 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 1:

My kids think there are cameras in every single vent in our house. Did I tell you that I told them this when they were little? And now if there's like any misunderstanding about anything, I just grab my phone. I'm like, all right, let me check the cameras. And they're like, no, no, no, we lied. Shelby, what's up?

00:45:04 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 3:

Hi, first time long time. Hey, Shelby.

00:45:10 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:45:13 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm part of the younger generation. My parents had cameras all on the inside of the house. I had a room in the basement with an egress window, and they actually had a camera even pointing to the window on the inside of the house to make sure that I wasn't going anywhere. Oh, they were not messing around.

00:45:32 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever sneak boys in?

00:45:34 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't. But I would sneak out for runs.

00:45:39 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 1:

For runs. For runs.

00:45:41 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 3:

Jerry is what your relationship is like with your parents now. It's good. It's really good. They're actually a lot more laid back than they were in high school. That's wild.

00:45:53 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate your help.

00:45:55 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 4:

tell me about how we cheated on you five times already and is doing it again another world

00:46:02 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 2:

famous war of the roses happens at 7 40 on mojo in the morning all right it's mojo in the morning

00:46:07 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 1:

show um hold on a second hold on valerie what did you do valerie um my hi good morning good

00:46:15 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 2:

morning what's going on uh first time long time yay um i was calling because to comment about the cameras my best friend and she's not listening because she lives in texas but my best friend has cameras in every single room of her house because her husband used to cheat on her all the time when they were younger and now she watches him like a hawk all day when she's at work and if he's texting on his phone too much oh that's awful like it's a very toxic relationship yeah why is she still married that's exhausting girl i don't know i've tried a hundred times it's not are the cameras visible are the cameras

00:47:01 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 3:

visible yeah it's a job to watch her husband so how does she know he's just not cheating somewhere

00:47:05 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

else i mean you know that's what i tell her i'm like girl if he's gonna cheat he's gonna cheat

00:47:11 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

anywhere yeah but that's amazing yeah if that's the case like the where you got to constantly follow up on the guy it's not worth it but if i'm him i show her something special on there and she's like no i'll never want to see that ever again um all right mojo in the morning uh so hey megan mick had a monumental moment happened for her yesterday it was it was a big moment for you

00:47:36 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 4:

I genuinely thought I was going to cry. I don't know, like, if my bowels were going to release at some point. I didn't know if I was literally floating on air for the rest of the day. But I have been, I've been with iHeart for nearly 14 years. I've been with this show. How old is Smith? Eight. He's going to be eight this year, yeah. So eight years with this show. And Tony, who is our boss on this show, was my boss technically before I joined the show as well. so he's been my boss for probably 10 years at this point right does that make sense yeah okay well yesterday he did something for the very first time that I have known him and he genuinely told me that I was right about something and I almost pooped myself he meant it with all sincerity he was the the insult to this part was that he was a little bit shocked when he said it but he acknowledged the entire group and said wow Megan's actually right about this my jaw hit the floor been working with this man for 10 years he tells me only the things that I do wrong on a regular basis and so for him to be like you are right I concede and acknowledge this I thought the world must be ending today

00:48:50 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 1:

10 years

00:48:52 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

10 years I've waited for my boss to tell me that I was right about something

00:48:57 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

and he finally told you after 10 years That's amazing. Give Megan a round of applause. That's huge. Huge moment.

00:49:03 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 4:

It felt like, don't play the lottery. Watch your back and make sure like an icicle doesn't hit you. It felt like I was going to die. Like I had reached everything in life I was trying to accomplish. My life must be over at this point.

00:49:13 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Call Tony Travato. I want to see if he has any second thoughts.

00:49:17 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 4:

No, he takes it back. Here's why I know he has second thoughts. He texted me yesterday around 3 p.m. asking me about something. And I wrote him back a novel he did not ask for. Eddie responded with a gif just being exasperated with me, and I went, oh, I think I ruined the one thing I had going for me, the one thing.

00:49:33 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it amazing when somebody who would never, you would never think, and it doesn't have to be even your boss, but when it's your boss, it's extra special, but a boss, a brother, a sister, a coworker, or a relationship says something like, oh my God, you're right. You're like, oh, see, Megan, you know what you need? You know how they have employee of the month parking or something? You need your right parking or something.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 4:

That face is empty most days of the year.

00:50:03 - 00:50:03 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:50:04 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 3:

What was it about, Megan? Do we know?

00:50:06 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 4:

So we were talking about longevity and pop careers. And if, do you want me to get into like the nerdiness of it?

00:50:15 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, give us the Wikipedia quick version of this.

00:50:18 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 4:

We were wondering if Justin Bieber could become relevant again. And I said it's a lot harder for guys to become relevant again in the pop atmosphere than women.

00:50:27 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 1:

After they are quiet for a couple years.

00:50:29 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 4:

Right. Like, if you look at women, like, Katy Perry has got to be, what, in her 40s now? So is Beyonce. Taylor Swift's in her mid-30s. Lady Gaga's getting close to 40. And we all give them a lot of leniency, but we don't for guys. Yeah. And once they disappear, like, it's really hard for them to come back without us seeing them as cringy. Right. And so we were going through and, like, listing boy bands and boy male artists. In the pop sphere. Yeah. Yeah. And then my other argument that he really did not want to concede was Post Malone move over to country music because you can stay relevant there longer. Wow. And I think he was dying in relevancy in pop world. Hot takes. He switched to country.

00:51:07 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you think maybe Tony was having a weak moment or what do you think?

00:51:09 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I don't know. But like literally, how long do you wait for a compliment from somebody? Because I realized it's been 10 years for my first compliment.

00:51:20 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Tony Travato sent a message through his lawyers that he declines to comment on the Mojo on the Morning Show call. He sent a gag order. Yeah, he said that he will release an official statement on iHeart Letterhead later today on this one here. That's amazing, though, that Tony Travato said Megan is right.

00:51:43 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 4:

But that isn't sad that it took 10 years?

00:51:45 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 3:

No, because I think that...

00:51:47 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 4:

Just made it extra special.

00:51:49 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 3:

I think maybe he's got a weak moment in his longevity. You know what I mean? Maybe it's one of those type of things. Hold on. Initial V wants to be voice disguised. What's going on, V? Hello.

00:52:01 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

00:52:02 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 3:

How are you?

00:52:03 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Good. So I've been in a relationship for about two years now, and my boyfriend thinks he's right about everything. I have been right about things twice to the point where I put it in my phone to remind him.

00:52:19 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 4:

So you don't forget. You got to keep notes and be like, hey, this one time?

00:52:23 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second.

00:52:24 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

00:52:24 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 3:

You say you've been right twice, meaning he said twice you were right, and that's it? You actually keep score?

00:52:30 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:52:30 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

So you have a scorebook. That's an interesting thing to do in your relationship. Yeah. By the way, why are you not saying this without a voice disguise? What are you afraid of?

00:52:42 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 1:

He listens to the show. Oh.

00:52:46 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, whoever that guy is that has only said twice to his girl, wake up a little bit, buddy. I don't know. That's kind of crazy.

00:52:54 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 2:

What if he right, though?

00:52:56 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, it could be. We don't know her. NB might be wrong. Is that what you're saying? We don't know her. I guess we can't assume anything. All right. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Take care of yourself. All right. We'll be right back with more War of the Roses coming up here in just a second. And a girlfriend thinks that her boyfriend is just a little too close to his stepsister. This morning on the show, we do a three-way call. Will we bust them cheating with each other?

00:53:25 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 4:

When you get the hell out of Dodge, we got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning. Listen to 730 to get in on Mojo in the Morning.

00:53:38 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're going on spring break in Panama City, Florida. Second of five qualifiers. So number two of five. Right now, 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Win a $50 cash card and qualify for a trip. That's going to be really nice. I mean, airfare, hotel, car rental, excursions, it all. From Visit Florida, 844-665-6548. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon, with What's Trending and the Dirty on the 30, do not go anywhere. Dirty. Because War of the Roses in a second is one of those ones where you either have to drop the kids off right now, wherever they are, and tell them to walk the rest of the way to school.

00:54:22 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:54:23 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 3:

Or keep them in the car and make them late. I don't care. This is one of those moments you cannot turn off Mojo in the morning. If you're a kid in your car with your mom, say, Mom, don't drop me off the car. Make me sit and then go in late.

00:54:35 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 2:

Can I shout out a kid? Yeah. Shout out Alex from Royal Oak. Saw him at the Pistons game last night with a beautiful mother. Shout out to Alex. Wait, Pistons played last night? Yeah, back-to-back. Played again on Wednesday. Who did they play last night? Last night we played against the Atlanta Hawks. Trey Young hit a step back over Malik Beasley that won the game. It was a tough game, but we back Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

00:54:56 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 3:

Cade Cunningham, All-Star. What's going on, Shannon?

00:54:58 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, attorneys for Blake Lively. and her former It Ends With Us director and co-star Justin Baldoni were in court yesterday and the judge basically told both of them to stop. They were told to stop fighting their case through the media. And the judge, you know, well, first off, Justin and Blake were not there. It was just the attorneys meeting in federal court. This is for the first time. And the judge basically advised both attorneys to stop making statements in public that could prejudice the proceedings or could prejudice a potential jury. So basically, they got a slap on the wrist. There really wasn't more than that. I'm told it was very intense, but the judge was like, hey, I could consider moving up the trial date, which is set for next March, March of 2026 at this point, if you two don't quit it. Baldoni's attorney, Brian Friedman, did mention at one point that Justin has suffered some pretty major hardships because of this litigation, including being devastated financially. He's lost millions of dollars in three different gigs, also devastated emotionally. And his attorney also said not to sound like a four-year-old fighting a four-year-old with they started it, but in these kinds of cases, once someone says something, it becomes fact, referring to Blake Lively's sexual harassment allegations. And now he says there's no way to fight against it. So he's saying, essentially, she started it. Meanwhile, Blake's attorney claimed that Justin's alleged retaliation campaign against the actress has been devastating for her and her reputation. So the case wages on. Really, we got nothing out of yesterday except.

00:56:42 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 3:

But no gag order.

00:56:43 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 1:

No gag order. No. Both just got a warning. Two employees at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have been arrested over leaking the video of that American Airlines plane colliding with that Army Blackhawk helicopter. They leaked it to CNN. 21-year-old Mohammed Bang arrested on January 31st and charged with something called computer trespass. Authorities then charged 45-year-old Jonathan Savoy with the same thing a couple of days later. And authorities refuse to say whether additional people could face charges as this investigation unfolds. It's also unclear whether these two sold the video to CNN and made some cash or if they just gave it away for free. The update that I have for you this morning, 55 of the 67 bodies have so far been recovered from the Potomac River yesterday. I know I saw a couple of pieces, including the engine of that American Airlines passenger jet being lifted out of the water.

00:57:42 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 3:

That Philly med flight that crashed on Friday, I saw the family members of a woman are looking for a missing woman who was leaving to go to get something to eat and was walking the streets that night and say that the last time that they believed that she was alive and knew where she was, was somewhere in that area where the plane crash happened. And they said that they still haven't found a body or anything, but they're wondering what's going on. So that's a crazy story in itself, too.

00:58:12 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 1:

Super Bowl week is officially underway. If anybody cares. If anybody cares. The Eagles and the Chiefs kicked it off by taking part in Super Bowl opening night last night, answering all sorts of questions from the media. Both teams took the podium for about an hour. All eyes were on Travis Kelsey. He was asked question after question about whether he was going to propose to Taylor Swift during or after the game. I mean.

00:58:36 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, next question.

00:58:42 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 1:

He's like, is there going to be a ring? You mean a Super Bowl ring? So he avoided that one. Yeah, I mean, he was just like, I'm not, he was not answering that question. Then he turned it around, though, and asked the media a question.

00:58:55 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 2:

If I could ask the media one question, why are you guys leaning into this whole ref thing? Ah, the ref show. Showing a little favoritism.

00:59:05 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 3:

Guys get special treatment. Yeah, that's why. That's interesting. I think that the Kansas City Chiefs are going to win because I made a $20 bet with Cavs. I was just about to ask you. Let's go $25. Why not? Let's go $100. No, I'm not going $100. Okay. I'll go $25, though. By Friday, we might be at $100. I'll give you $25.

00:59:25 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

I saw that one of the prop bets is how many times Taylor Swift is going to be shown during the big game. I got five. And then we're under as four. Oh, I'm taking over. Yeah. It's going to be more than that. And speaking of the Chiefs, they have a chance to win their third consecutive Super Bowl. And if they do it, the biggest question could be whether the team's championship merch could use the phrase three-peat on it. Three-peat is actually trademarked by legendary NBA coach and Miami Heat president Pat Riley. And Pat Riley and his company, Riles & Company, Inc., own at least six live patents for use of the phrase.

01:00:00 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 6:

three p with the united states patent and trademark office and this all stems back from the late 1980s he adopted the phrase while he served as the lakers coach and the team was chasing its third consecutive nba title um somebody came up with the term tweet p during an interview and riley eventually altered that phrase to three p while having dinner with like his wife and some friends So then he was smart, got it trademarked. His trademark would cover any merch containing the phrase three P t-shirts, jackets, hats, posters, trading cards. I mean, you get it. You get it. He did an interview with CNN, God, two decades ago, and he revealed he doesn't ever seek out business deals in relation to the trademark. He waits for people who want to use it to come to him so he could stand to make some money. You know, it would be smart though. If they want to use it.

01:00:53 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 1:

What are the indigenous people from that area, from Kansas City?

01:00:57 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 6:

I do not know.

01:00:59 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm so curious. Find out whatever their native language is and what three is and do it in whatever language that is. That's an interesting idea.

01:01:08 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 2:

I might be reading too far into it, though. I don't think people will get it.

01:01:13 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, but then you don't have to pay this guy and everybody will know, right?

01:01:15 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 2:

Some people have said they should call it a Chief Pete. A Chief Pete. There you go. Is that a three chief? I have the trademark on shart.

01:01:23 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 6:

I've had that. Where did that come from? Are you having tummy trouble today?

01:01:29 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

I've had that from a day back when. It was a really long time ago. And I farted. And obviously, you know the rest of the story. Go ahead, Sean.

01:02:23 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. It'll be tough. Either my daughter or my wife. I'll have a little battle there. I'll have to see who I take.

01:02:28 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 2:

That's sweet. By the way, how old are you, Jim, if you don't mind me asking?

01:02:33 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm north of 50, just to be honest. Sweet.

01:02:37 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 2:

So how old is your daughter?

01:02:39 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 5:

She's 26.

01:02:40 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 2:

What a guy, man. And this is, by the way, you do not sound like you're old enough to have a 26-year-old daughter. That's insane. Good genes, my friend. Good vocal genes.

01:02:52 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 5:

Thank you very much.

01:02:53 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

01:03:48 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 2:

Is she right there?

01:03:50 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we're both in the car.

01:03:52 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 2:

Let me say hi. Let me say hi. What's your name?

01:03:55 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm Kate. Nice to meet you guys.

01:03:57 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Kate, do you have people that think that that's your boyfriend and not your dad?

01:04:02 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 5:

No one has ever said that.

01:04:03 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Nobody's ever said that? No. Do guys ever flirt with you in front of your dad, or is it kind of awkward?

01:04:10 - 01:04:13 | Speaker 5:

No, that'd be really awkward. I'm glad they don't.

01:04:14 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that would be. Dad, what would you do, Dad? Would you say that you got a concealed carry, or what would you do?

01:04:20 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 5:

I'd definitely have to ruffle up a little bit.

01:04:22 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 2:

I like it. Yeah, don't mess with the guy that works in Warren, man. All right, hang on one second. We'll get some information from you guys. Have a fantastic day. I love it. Thank you, too. Bye-bye. Dad and daughter sharing the Mojo in the Morning show this morning. If you think that you're being cheated on, text CHEATER to 95500. We're going to keep it a family affair today with this War of the Roses.

01:04:43 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 4:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:04:49 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Shea, tell me if I'm right in saying this, that you think that your guy is possibly having an inappropriate relationship.

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 1:

with his sister or stepsister? Yeah. And why is that?

01:05:07 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 6:

I don't have any, like, hard evidence. They're just, they're really, I don't know, they talk all the time. They FaceTime all the time with each other. Whenever he has a work event that he's going to, he always invites her and not me. I mean, I guess I have, like, I've looked at his phone and I've seen flirty kind of text messages back and forth, or what I interpret as flirty. It just seems...

01:05:33 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

So they have a really close relationship, but you say it's close in kind of a weird way?

01:05:39 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's not like any relationship I've encountered before. I mean, and they're not real siblings. They're step-siblings, and there's just something going on there.

01:05:49 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 1:

Have you said anything to them about it? Like, have you said, I'm not comfortable with how you guys are with each other?

01:05:56 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 6:

Well, I kind of started to once, and it just seemed like he wasn't going to react well.

01:06:02 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Do you have a good relationship with her?

01:06:08 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 6:

Um, you know, I'd say it was good. We're not close like they are, but...

01:06:17 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 1:

All right, so your thought is that these two guys talk inappropriate together, They act inappropriate together. They spend too much time together. And you feel like it's gone past just being good friends. Yeah, that's right. And brother and sister.

01:06:35 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 2:

Like, I kind of feel like I need an example of, like you said, flirty text messages.

01:06:42 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 6:

Like, she'll share her outfit with him for the day and be like, oh, cute.

01:06:47 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 2:

You know?

01:06:49 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of weird that you do that with your brother and your sister.

01:06:51 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I see that. Did they grow up together, or did they meet each other, like, later in life?

01:06:58 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Like, 17. They were, like, I think they were both, and they're around the same age. So he's a year older than her. So he was 17 and she was 16.

01:07:07 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 1:

How old are you guys? How old is he?

01:07:10 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 6:

He is 32.

01:07:12 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 1:

So they've had a good portion of their life together, but they also met each other in their teenage years.

01:07:16 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Do you have a relationship with a stepsister? Like, are you guys friendly?

01:07:20 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 6:

yeah we're friendly i mean we're not like hanging out i'm not inviting her to my work events like

01:07:28 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 1:

he is um but yeah we get along all right we're gonna uh do a three-way call so what we do is we will call them both up at the same time try to make it be that they think that each other is calling them and then see what they sound like when they're having a conversation. You have to be extremely quiet on this by muting your phone.

01:07:55 - 01:08:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Just remember the more, the more we can listen to them, the more info like it helps us get.

01:08:02 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. We're trying to find out what's going on. Is Shay getting cheated on by her boyfriend's sister? It's the war of the roses. Hello?

01:08:38 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello?

01:08:45 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up?

01:08:50 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 3:

Uh, hey. Nothing. Um, what's up with you?

01:09:00 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 5:

I mean, nothing. I'm just going about my day. Why'd you call me?

01:09:08 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 3:

I didn't call you. But whatever. Um. Are you on your way to work?

01:09:19 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 4:

Almost, yeah.

01:09:21 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 3:

You think you can still get time off for Mom's trip?

01:09:28 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 4:

I don't know yet. To be honest, I don't really think I should go to that.

01:09:36 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 3:

Why? You're basically family.

01:09:40 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to go if Shay's there. She makes me uncomfortable

01:09:45 - 01:10:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, well I mean, she can She can deal with it Yeah, I mean, you're Thank you You're allowed to be there, too. I think you need to work on making mom like her. Yeah, but you need to work on making mom like her. This is not my problem.

01:10:11 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's just... Things are just easier when you're around, you know?

01:10:16 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, again, I can't fix all your relationships.

01:10:24 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I know. It's, um, I mean, we're just, it's just you showing up. It's just, it's just a party.

01:10:39 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 3:

I already said, like, I'm not sure I'm really comfortable going, so.

01:10:46 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 4:

I don't, I'm not trying to get you to fix anything. Just, like, show up and show up for me, you know, and just be there.

01:10:54 - 01:11:08 | Speaker 3:

okay i mean i i still don't know if i can even get off work so it doesn't even matter if i want to go yet before i can even decide what i want i would have to see if i could even make it possible

01:11:08 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 4:

okay uh yeah that makes sense i mean you're not you're not You know, I'm not expecting anything of you, just... I don't know, I figured I'd ask.

01:11:31 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 3:

You're expecting me to be there, but okay.

01:11:37 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, anyway, why did you call me again?

01:11:41 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

I didn't call you, you called me.

01:11:46 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 4:

It's been an accident or something.

01:11:49 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 1:

Actually, we called you guys. Charles?

01:11:57 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:11:58 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 1:

Charles, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And we called you up because we have Shay on the phone with us. And Shay was just trying to see what you guys sound like talking to each other because she feels awkward with your relationship that you have. uh what what relationship what do you what do you mean shay feels uncomfortable with the relationship that you have with your sister alexa

01:12:35 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 4:

i mean i'm i'm kind of uncomfortable now uh

01:12:44 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

i don't understand i'm sorry i'm just a little bit stunned here charles um i don't apparently everyone's uncomfortable because i just heard alexa say she's always uncomfortable around me why wouldn't she be a human and just say that to me is that who she's talking about chay she was

01:13:03 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

they were talking about you

01:13:04 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 2:

yeah she was talking about me like she's not comfortable around me and your mom doesn't like me when were you i i when were you gonna tell me i'm just i i don't have any words right now i can't what is going on why you're the weird family I mean, I'm the normal one.

01:13:31 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 1:

When we were listening, we were listening into your guys' conversation because Shay had said that you guys are incredibly close, almost too close. I mean, you understand why they probably don't feel comfortable or why Charles' sister doesn't feel comfortable because you make it seem like these guys are doing something with each other and I don't think there's anything going on here other than family.

01:13:56 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, she's allowed to be uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable right now.

01:14:03 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 2:

Maybe I'm the crazy one. Yeah. I just, I don't know. I don't feel like this conversation was indicative of their normal chat. I don't know what's going on. What were you expecting? You guys talk constantly. You're constantly, like, FaceTiming. FaceTiming. Who FaceTimes anyone but, like, their partner or their very best friend?

01:14:33 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but their brother and sister.

01:14:35 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 3:

I actually don't think that that, so you didn't say that before. I don't think that that part is weird.

01:14:39 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 1:

I FaceTimed my sister.

01:14:40 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 3:

I FaceTimed my brother.

01:14:42 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 2:

Can we ask? Yeah, but, like, all day, I don't know. Can we ask your stepsister, Alexa, why she said she has a problem with Shay?

01:14:51 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to get involved in this.

01:14:53 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Maybe she doesn't have a comfortable relationship because

01:15:00 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 3:

Because she's being accused of having a relationship with her brother.

01:15:06 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I get it. Maybe she has a relationship with her brother, and so that's why she doesn't want to talk about it. I don't know.

01:15:12 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 2:

I did not get that one bit. Uh-uh. I mean, and again, that is one phone call, but I just, I really didn't. I got a lot of people who are trying to avoid you.

01:15:24 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 3:

Shay, why don't you hang on the phone for a second Okay Alright, hold on one second Yo, yo This is the home of War of the Roses Mojo in the Morning

Join the discussion now 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 This is Mojo in the Morning

01:15:54 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 3:

mojo the morning show war of the roses did not catch a cheater but did get some very honest comments about how family feels about shea it's a interesting situation that's going on here i will tell you this the idea that shay is accusing her boyfriend of cheating with his stepsister and then there was no proof at least in that audio call that we had on the three-way it's gonna make things very awkward for her when she gets around the family uh jessica you had something like this happen to you huh unfortunately yes it was horrible what happened was it you were were you dating a guy that ended up cheating with his stepsister? Oh, yeah.

01:16:54 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 4:

We dated for a solid six months and, yeah, that's short, but that's how it goes. It starts. And he started feeling distant. I'm like, okay, well, we was fine. Why so distant? I started going through his phone messages or through the phone. Of course, every girl should. And, well, when I seen it, I seen his sister's name. I'm okay. They're brother, sisters, set-sisters. And then dig a little deeper. start seeing more than just messages it was videos okay i was done what kind of videos oh god um radio appropriate and right not that you should send somebody who you consider family put it that

01:17:36 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 3:

way wow like but videos of them videos of him to her and her to him it was all the above like as

01:17:45 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 4:

i'll keep it pg um they didn't grow up together they met when they was in their 20s and then they ended up getting married they're still married to this day oh my gosh yes i wonder how did their families take it that they did this like how did mom and dad every yep at first everybody was mad because it was um more siblings involved because there was 10 all together so they all grew up knowing oh that's my brother that's my sister knowing of them but then they didn't live in the same state so then when he moved back to the same state it was hell wow all right well that that

01:18:25 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 3:

is by the way that is uh something that uh it does happen so her you only see in adult movies is that wrong though yeah well if y'all 20 if y'all 20 years old no it listen technically no

01:18:38 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 4:

but morals some people should have morals technically no but i think everybody would

01:18:44 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 3:

say yeah it's weird i'm 20 years old right i'm out i'm an adult i'm doing my own thing and then this person comes into my life i think that that could happen i think it'd be common that that could happen at that age it would be wrong in this case how about this case where these guys were high schoolers it sounded like uh with uh shay's boyfriend um what's going on

01:19:07 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 5:

summer how are you hi good morning guys morning what's happening so i just kind of feel like everybody just made her feel uncomfortable for like bringing her concerns i feel like she kind of had a little bit of a right for being concerned and that her boyfriend should allow her know that her family's not getting along with her or that they feel uncomfortable around her because she she felt something was going on there and for nobody to bring up their concerns to her was

01:19:34 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 1:

kind of just like a little bit worrisome so i actually agree with you in that this i feel like shed a lot of light on just his character as a partner as a boyfriend yeah because like i mean

01:19:46 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 5:

i have so many siblings and i don't face time them 24 7 not even about that not even about

01:19:52 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

not even about his relationship with alexa but more so like he clearly doesn't have her back within

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 3:

his family he clearly doesn't put his foot down for her he's not bringing her this information that she's not really well liked and let's like figure this out and get to the bottom of like

01:20:08 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 1:

there's none of that yeah and also i think that uh it sounds from just him that he's concerned about uh the family's not showing up at stuff just because of her yeah instead of saying hey either i'm gonna side with my family or i'm gonna make my family go stop this already you know

01:20:28 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what I mean.

01:20:29 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, put his foot down. Shauna wants to make a comment on a word that was said or a phrase that was said during that thing. What is that, Shauna?

01:20:38 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 2:

I heard, so I know a couple things that he had said where it's obvious that he cheated. Tell us. One is when she said, I don't feel comfortable around her. I don't think I should go. He said, come on, you're practically like family.

01:20:55 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 3:

he said that to to his sister yes how does that show that they're cheating yeah

01:21:03 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 2:

so two any real sister wouldn't miss their mom's event over a spouse right or feel uncomfortable in any way to their brother's girlfriend unless yeah but it's not her mom you'd be there i and

01:21:18 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 1:

she says i don't feel comfortable around her meaning she didn't feel comfortable around shay but also you're saying you're like family i get that you're like family meaning hey if it was your sister you'd say you're my sister and that's your mom you know what i mean like it there was i don't make me feel weird i don't think that that says that they're cheating but it does make it seem like their relationship may not be as close and obviously i took that uh mom is is uh his mom and not her mom because if it was her mom she's not missing that right uh tabor wants to say something you say he's 100% getting with his stepsister um yeah like I don't know when I was

01:22:02 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 4:

listening to it she sounded like she wasn't really into it and then he was begging her to come and saying oh like come on like I want you there everything like that but when I observed from the phone call she was like no and maybe she felt a little bit uncomfortable with um him wait did

01:22:20 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 1:

Did you tell Lydia when you called, he's 100% getting with his stepsister? Did you use those words?

01:22:27 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:22:28 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 1:

But then you're like, not 100% right now. You're like wishy-washy.

01:22:32 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well.

01:22:34 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 1:

I thought you had some good evidence. You got no evidence.

01:22:37 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 4:

He did. Well, plus the pictures that they were texting with the outfits and everything and being like, oh, that's a cute outfit. That's just so weird. You don't do that.

01:22:46 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 1:

That is a weird thing. that that's so that is so odd yeah i i actually think a good topic that could come out of this thing and you know we could see what people have but i'd love to get into a topic of uh how did you find out that family or somebody didn't like you how'd you overhear the thing because i'll say this hearing them talk to each other in that three-way call i gotta give shay a lot of credit because we've had war of the roses people that have unmuted themselves and said something if you start hearing somebody saying things that's a hurt feeling right there so i don't know if anybody's had a situation like that happen to them but i feel for her that that's going on that she said and had to listen to the fact that not only does this sister not like you but find out that the mom doesn't like you last call john what's up what's going on hey listen i

01:23:40 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 5:

was listening to that conversation and if you go back in the middle of his conversation he said something very faintly but you can definitely hear him he goes it's not like we're gonna have sex or anything she goes yeah i know but i don't know if i can get the time off and then she was

01:23:54 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 1:

kind of hesitant so i think he i gotta listen to the podcast he said that it's not like we have had sex or anything? Yep, sure did. All right, here's the deal, John. John, you just made me now want to download this Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses because I didn't hear that.

01:24:18 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 3:

Neither did I. How did none of us catch it if it happened?

01:24:21 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 1:

John, do you work for iHeart Podcasting and you want to blow this one up? You want to get us a $500,000 download in one day?

01:24:29 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm a PI, licensed PI in the state of Michigan. All right, he's a PI. I believe him.

01:24:34 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 1:

Look at this guy. You got a trench coat?

01:24:35 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I want to do a topic with just PIs.

01:24:38 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 1:

Matter of fact, he's got a trench coat, I think. You got a trench coat? Actually, this is a great test. Have them say. Answer the question. Go ahead. I'm sorry, man.

01:24:45 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 2:

Have them say what they heard, and then we'll judge whether or not you're a good PI about it or not.

01:24:49 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 1:

I love it. I like this guy.

01:24:52 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 5:

I listen to you guys every morning, and I'm pretty good at what I hear.

01:24:54 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, John. I appreciate you. Take care.

01:24:57 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 5:

You're very welcome, you guys.

01:24:58 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

John, the PI, just made it that you.

01:25:00 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

And then here are some of the topics that you're going to hear along with other great prizes. I'll kind of give you a chronological order. First up on the show, your kids hate what you love. Then right afterwards, Shannon is accusing Megan of being a smoker. Her evidence will be laid out on the air for you to judge for yourself. And then I would like to call out the family member that screwed me. Has anybody ever been screwed by a family member? We got Katy Perry tickets, too, we're going to give you. And then Am I the A-Hole is this morning. Did you know that? Am I the A-Hole, 9 o'clock, just after 9 o'clock on the Mojo in the Morning show. Got a good show for you today. Feeling good, feeling fine.

01:26:47 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Like fine wine. Like fine China. Shout out to Chris Brown, who won a Grammy.

01:26:52 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes. Shout out to him. He should have won a Grammy for no music he put out in 2020.

01:26:58 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 1:

See, you just now tapped in.

01:27:00 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:27:01 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

You got to listen to Residuals.

01:27:02 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 3:

Why do you only like people that are criminals? You only like-

01:27:07 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 1:

What are you talking about? I like you?

01:27:08 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's true. Well, you never know.

01:27:10 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 1:

There are some criminals I don't like.

01:27:12 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 3:

John the P.I. is coming. All right. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Kev's got something to lay out as a dad that as a parent sometimes, you might have something you know similar to this happen to you with your kids i did with one of my

01:27:26 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 1:

kids but what's going on and um i've had this dream and this vision that i would have a child that would grow up and become a phenomenal basketball player and i literally can close my eyes and see myself as one of those parents during march madness where they're sitting in the seats their child is a phenomenal basketball player and they're scoring a bunch of points and then the commentators show the the father and the mother or whatever the situation is and they show them and they're wearing their t-shirt from their school and like i've had that vision and maybe it'll

01:28:02 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 3:

happen and then and then they go pro and they buy you a house yeah i'd love that i love it or now

01:28:07 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 1:

you don't even need to go pro nowadays right with the nil yeah yeah but maybe it'll happen but it won't happen with josiah and josiah does not like basketball and it's not only basketball he doesn't like sports period and that was very tough for me earlier on in his life and we had one situation and it played out because he did the announcement for the pistons the other day yeah and he did an amazing job and he loved it and then right when he got done i look over and he's got his head down and he's playing with like the hooper plush doll and then throughout the day i'm looking over he's before we even came he's like dad can i bring my ipad i'm like no we're not there to do what you do all the all the damn time anyway he looks up at the clock he's like it's it's 38 minutes to go does that mean we're leaving him i'm like no joe it doesn't work like that but when he was younger i signed him up for t-ball like i feel like most people do and he was phenomenal at t-ball he was the fastest on the team his hand eye coordination was great he he picks up things really quickly and really well he's attentive he listens to the coaches and then he had like this halloween thing at the zoo and his mom took him and she's like talk to your son josiah doesn't want to get out the car and i'm in my daddy mind i'm like okay put him on the phone like all he needs to do is hear my voice and i'm gonna tell him you know and he's crying and he's like you didn't ask me if i wanted to go the same way you didn't ask me if i wanted to play baseball he's like i don't like sports And since that moment, it's like, damn, he doesn't want to watch a football game. He's not interested in the Super Bowl. He does not care about all the sports things that I'm infatuated with.

01:29:48 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. I said I can relate to that because I've had this with Jacob. Jacob was, and it's crazy. Why is it that God makes the kid that hates sports? the best athlete it's in our family jacob was the best athlete the kid we used to have people come up to us when jacob was younger after soccer games and there would be coaches from travel teams that would say would your son like to play on a travel team i'm like my son doesn't even want to be here it's crazy yeah man i'm gonna make grass whistles isn't it unreal

01:30:20 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 1:

Smith at T-Ball, I always post videos, he's like singing Kendrick on third base and throwing his mitt up in the air and catching it, but that, Kev, you said something that is a constant debate in our household, and that is the kids saying, right now they're both swimming, they swim year-round competitively, and then Luce plays lacrosse, which she's obsessed with, And we try to get Smith to, you know, we've tried T-ball. He is, that is just not his thing. He likes flag football, kind of. But there are a lot of times he'll call me out and be like, you, you and dad did not even ask me if I wanted to be signed up for swimming. Like on the days that he's really not feeling going to practice. And I'm like, hmm, kind of right.

01:31:06 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 5:

Like, he's kind of right. And I've had those conversations with Josiah, like, yes, this is your life. Because I talked to him like he's in it. I'm like, yes, this is your life. you should have a decision and you should have a voice in it but at the same time you're you're too young to see things that I see and you have to trust me that there are qualities about you there are abilities about you or abilities that you have that right now you don't understand yet and you have to trust me enough to know that I'm not just gonna put you in something just

01:31:34 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 3:

for the hell of it like I see something in you Chelsea and I did the well-rounded card we we told him he's like hey we want you to be well-rounded we want you to be involved in a bunch of things and then jacob did the you know hey but it's not the thing that i want to do so he so we said you have to do something at least uh athletic meaning active wise like so he would honestly run or he did i you know just get because we're like hey biggest reason we're throwing you into this thing is not because i want you to become a professional athlete yeah my biggest thing was i don't want you sitting on the couch all day yeah you know but um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 And for those that don't understand, Kev is the biggest, you're one of the biggest sports fans, but basketball guys, you're the announcer for the Pistons, you do all that stuff, and here's your kid, it'd be like LeBron, you know, although Bronny does look like he doesn't know how to, I mean, but it'd be like, it would be like LeBron's kid not wanting to play basketball, which is interesting.

01:32:33 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 5:

You can use Jordan because his kids actually suck at basketball. That is true.

01:32:36 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

His kids were horrible. Yeah. They were not good. But it also, honestly, I wonder, what do you do when your dad, what do you do if your dad's Barry Sanders? You know what I mean? And you got to, you know, and all you want to do is.

01:32:50 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 1:

That would be very hard as his kid. If that is not in your heart to want to play football or you're not good at football, that would be such a tough position to be in as a kid.

01:33:02 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, his son is an athlete, though. He plays basketball for Michigan State, so he's a hooper.

01:33:07 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 3:

And his one son, actually, works for EA Sports. He's the man for the Madden game. He does all the ratings of the players for that, yeah. So Barry's got – but it's also, you know, it's also like the sports dad who has nothing but daughters, and their daughters don't want to do anything. Hold on. Speaking of LeBron, LeBron is on the phone with us right now. Who is this? Hi. My name is Bron. I'm actually much older than LeBron.

01:33:36 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

My comment was that sometimes we have, God gives us talent, but we don't have the passion for those things. So we can be good at something, like some kids are smart in math and really good at math, but don't really like math. You know what I'm saying? It's just something they're talented in. And sometimes as parents, we have to put our pride aside sometimes and go after our kids' passions. I'm a foster parent, so I deal with a lot of different types of kids, and a lot of things I had to realize is that what I want for them is not necessarily what they want for themselves. And yes, I also get that we sometimes have to encourage our kids to do things because sometimes they don't know. Like I hear people who make their kids play piano, and then they grow up and be musicians. You know what I'm saying? Yes, that can happen, but also you can make them kind of resent you in a lot of ways.

01:34:23 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a fine line to dance. Like you want to push them to try things.

01:34:28 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 3:

yeah but the resenting part is tough too if you push and push and push him you know what's up lucy how are you good what's going on we're talking this morning about what what do you do when your kid doesn't love what you love i think he should kind of not force him but push him into

01:34:47 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 2:

it maybe he'll find a sport he likes because it's so much more than just the sport it's the friendship the memories yeah see I disagree I disagree for having been there done that i think that you find out what his passion is and you love my dad one time told me you find something you're passionate about you'll never work a day in your life if you're doing it

01:35:09 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 4:

for a living and i think like i'm on like i said i'm on the other i have two boys that play travel hockey i'm sure megan can relate to when she was growing up yeah being in but i to me it's like it's become my whole life yeah but your kids love it right yes but sometimes there are days they

01:35:28 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 5:

don't want to go i think that's different i think that we all have days as kids where we're tired or we just want to go to the birthday party and we don't want to go to the really crappy hotel in you know new york upstate new york like nobody wants to go to buffalo for that tournament that weekend and stay at a motel six like there are weekends that you don't want to do it but i think if your kid doesn't want to do it at all and you're forcing them to take up every weekend and four days a week to go to practice to be involved in something that they don't want to be involved in that's where the damage is being done yeah and i was really grateful my dad never forced me to do anything but if we asked to do something and he signed us up for it we had to finish the season absolutely which is a great way to teach that lesson so i asked one year to play baseball i hated baseball but i finished the baseball season because i asked to do it yeah

01:36:17 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 2:

what's up lisa hi hi good morning good morning what's going on you guys hear me yes gotcha so

01:36:26 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, my son, let me preface this by I now know he came out of the womb a car enthusiast, and their brains are wired differently. However, we did the whole he's a boy, signed him up at age three for soccer, hated it, cried, whatever, put him in T-ball, which he played to, like, third grade, and then his eyes went bad and he couldn't hit. So he didn't love it, so we just kind of let it go. All the time, very into cars. Before he could read, he knew every car on the road without even being able to read, just very into it. anything he could do car he wanted ran cross country liked it enough to do that through high school um anyway now he is 26 and is a video journalist with a very successful youtube channel making bank so you got to support their passion like we you know we didn't get it for a long time you know because he's just one of those hardcore car enthusiasts and it's just always going to be that way and that's okay but you didn't know that at first yeah i think that's i think that's

01:37:27 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 2:

wonderful he he had his passion you kind of knew what it was and then as time went by you know you steer him towards it and i think josiah for those you hear josiah on the radio and when we have him on the radio people go crazy with the fact that this kid can man he he can speak and he speaks from his heart and his brain but i but i will tell you if you have never seen this kid's artwork This kid does, like, when I first saw things on his iPad, I thought it was what came with the iPad or whatever the program. I didn't realize he made it. So I would sit there and say that that passion that he has, to me, is better than any kind of sport you could play.

01:38:06 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 5:

And I feel like you do a really good job of fostering that.

01:38:09 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 1:

Once I realized that that was his passion, I was all in on what he was into. So voice acting, all the art classes. But it was still tough, man. It's still tough to this day to want to watch a game, and he doesn't give a damn about it.

01:38:20 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? It's great because you never have to fight for a television. You got to, you know what I mean? Yeah, silver lining. And you don't have disagreements on teams.

01:38:29 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:38:30 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Like I've, Joe, that, you know, he sits there and fights for every other team, but I like it.

01:38:35 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 5:

What is it about kids that do that? Like my little nephew got really into hockey and we told him all about the Red Wings. He was like, I love the Avalanche. I'm like, I'll hit a child. I'll hit a kid because you're saying that just to piss me off. You don't know who the Avalanche are.

01:38:48 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Right. what's up with them what's going on uh derek hi hey how are you guys good man what's going on with

01:38:55 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 6:

you derek not much just wanted to make a comment about the kids and sports because i always find that uh a great topic because as kids you know you want to let your kids be able to do what they want things like that and when i was uh younger i had football first contact practice and my mom told my mom i didn't feel good and she's like all right well let's just see your dad at work And my dad goes, hey, do you know what today is? And she goes, no, first contact day. So, of course, she doesn't want to go down to football. So pack them up, get them down there, and I'll be down there after work. And she took me down, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me because we ended up winning state and high school, things like that. So being pushed to that next level because you don't know what you want as a kid.

01:39:40 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 2:

How old were you at the time when this was going on?

01:39:44 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 6:

i was uh eight years old when that happened interesting i think everybody's story is

01:39:49 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 2:

different that is interesting though that it actually worked in the favor of you then starting

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

to like it um but uh i don't know but it's one of those things that you got to feel out like

01:40:00 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

He got pushed, and it worked. But if Kev was constantly pushing Josiah to go to basketball practice, and after a year he was still resisting, it's like, okay, you're trying. I pushed you. It didn't work.

01:40:11 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 2:

At what point are you not listening to your child? Right, right.

01:40:13 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 3:

You brought up the fact that he was playing with the Hooper doll. I remember Jacob used to bring coloring books with him to go to Pistons games. And it would drive me crazy. Actually, it's funny. We all went to the Lions Thanksgiving game as a family, and he sat there the entire time going, when are we leaving? And he's a grown adult now, but he was nice enough to know that his family all wanted to go. So he was like, I'm going to hang out. But he drank a lot. John, what's up? Hi.

01:40:41 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo gang. Good morning. How's it going? What's going on? Yeah, I got four kids, two daughters, two boys. But I have an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old sons, and my 13-year-old wants nothing to do with sports. You got my 11-year-old. That's all he's about. And who do you love more?

01:41:03 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 3:

Which one do you love more?

01:41:06 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 4:

They might hear this, so I love them both. My youngest was actually the young kid that went to Imagine Theater a couple years ago on that Lions-Chiefs game, the season opener.

01:41:20 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 3:

I remember that, yeah.

01:41:21 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was that little Chiefs a-hole.

01:41:27 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 3:

yeah exactly this is where you want your kids not to root for the wrong team so you don't care if

01:41:32 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 4:

they like sports right exactly but they they don't compete they don't practice together it's and that it kind of sucks because you want them to enjoy some things together and they're so polar opposite my older one just likes working mowing yards and doing construction with his uncle and

01:41:51 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 3:

so i can't complain he applies himself you know what the beauty is that the beauty is that These are from the same, you know, sperm and eggs and all the rest of that stuff. And here are two different kids, and that's wonderful. Like, that is awesome that that's the case. And they can be who they want to be. And you guys, you know, Kev, your dad, like you, you know, you say that. That kid does no wrong in your eyes. Love him. I mean, even not liking a Pistons game or whatever. But here's the thing. You love him to death, and he'll figure something out that he's going to be great at.

01:42:27 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 2:

And I think he already has. And I think, like Shannon was saying, once you realize what it is, put away your selfish ambition and look at your child for who they are and love them for that. And they'll be exactly who they were created to be and not who you want them to be. Because who you want them to be might be a little a-hole.

01:42:45 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's true. And don't make them, you know, you push them, you'll make them grow up to be that. Yeah. All right. It's Mojo on the Morning War. After further review of the play,

01:42:54 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 4:

The ruling on the field stands. The other morning shows still suck.

01:43:00 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, my God. I need some light in here or energy in here because I am, like, tired. You need a shot? Not yet. You want some liquid IV? I'll give you one. Yes. Do you have any?

01:43:11 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 1:

You don't have to steal it. Yes, I do.

01:43:13 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Don't worry. I actually grabbed one earlier this morning.

01:43:16 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

I don't know why we work in a cave every morning, but it kills me.

01:43:19 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 3:

It is dark in here, but I guess it looks better.

01:43:20 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 1:

I hate that we don't turn the lights on.

01:43:21 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

It looks better, I guess, on the screens. I don't know. All right. Mojo on the morning show. So Shannon, I've been waiting for this topic all morning. Shannon thinks that she busted Megan doing something that she should not be doing. And what is that, Shannon?

01:43:38 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So I am so anti-smoking. I am nuts about it. I have asthma. I know way too many people my age who have lung cancer and other related similar issues. My kids will go up to people who are smoking. I've had to really mitigate this and go, you know you're going to die, right? It's just a thing. And so I have been noticing over the past couple of weeks, especially in the past, I would say week or so, Megan throwing on her coat at certain points during the show and after the show and going outside with some of our co-workers who like the Siggies. Why are you giving me a funny look? It's after the show, but yeah. Okay, well, you literally just did it. Because my other studio is freezing. Okay, so normally I see you, and I know who you're going outside with. I shall not name names. And normally these people huddle around the corner of our new studios in the alley over here. You know what I'm talking about, Mojo. And they smoke, and they come back in. Wait, get the cigarettes. So yesterday, this happened immediately after the show. Megan grabs her coat, and I see them get in their little group, and they're getting ready to walk out to the alley.

01:44:53 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 2:

You talking about Zach and Teresa?

01:44:54 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Why would you do that? Oh, my fault.

01:44:56 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 2:

My bad. My bad. You can smell it on them. okay so they go out and i'm like i am not letting her go down like this and so i sent her a text and said you know i am going to kick your butt if you're smoking right and how did i respond and she goes um i'm not smoking is that what you said i literally said no i said what are you talking about i had no idea what you're talking about i said um can i say your middle name too yeah okay so i said you know i'm going to kick your butt if you're out there smoking right and or i'm going to kick your butt right and she said why and i sent a gif that is somebody like extinguishing somebody else and it says no smoking she wrote i'm not question mark i said megan lee mick because it's obvious that she's grabbing her coat and going outside with this group of co-workers and she was like i'm going out with them because i like them and i was like oh no no no i don't buy

01:45:54 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 3:

So this all started probably a year ago. It's so funny to me that this is the first time you're saying it because I go outside with them. I've never noticed it before. Almost every day. In the old building you used to do this? Yes. Have you noticed? I never noticed it.

01:46:08 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 5:

We couldn't see it probably.

01:46:09 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 3:

Y'all just, the show ends and it's like, maybe it doesn't exist. I get it. I get that vibe. It's fine. Every single day I go outside with them and it started with when I, this is a little bit more serious than I think you guys anticipated. but when I started here I had a really hard transition into this role like a very very difficult transition and I was having a very difficult time with it and Teresa has a very similar job to me and was the only one willing to take time to teach me how to do my job and so every day I would go to her I would ask her a million questions and I would end up crying and she would go let's go outside so nobody sees you so we started this terrible routine of me crying away from everybody which ended up with us going outside or having a cigarette and now every day after work it's just turned into so you i just go out there and catch up the smoker

01:47:05 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 5:

smoking the uh the ciggies yeah and you you as a non-smoker are okay being around a bunch of Smokers smoking cigarettes.

01:47:12 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I grew up around smokers. My dad was a smoker, my grandfather, my brother. Now, I will acknowledge. I will acknowledge. I loved a good cigarette in college. You cannot tell me that I didn't love a good menthol cigarette in college. And if you get me drunk enough now, I'm going to go around and offer dollars for cigarettes.

01:47:31 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 2:

I will acknowledge. Okay, I am not a smoker, but, like, I do have friends that love a smoky treat or two when they're drinking. Smoky treats.

01:47:39 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 3:

You get me a good half bottle line in. I'm not worried about that. I want a cigarette. But you guys also spend all day with me. Wouldn't you have noticed? I go out one time a day immediately after the show.

01:47:51 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

There are some people that are good at hiding the smoke. I don't know how they do it.

01:47:54 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 3:

Jingle ball. Shannon, jingle ball was nine hours for us. Did you smoke that day? No, I was with you all day. That's what I mean. I was by your side for nine hours.

01:48:05 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 5:

But sometimes people are friend smokers, where they're around friends that smoke, and they just smoke when they're around friends. Social smokes. And you're a social, exactly.

01:48:13 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 3:

But I just said I socially do.

01:48:14 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 5:

But I'm saying, but you socially are smoking probably with Zach and Teresa.

01:48:18 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't, like, social smoking doesn't worry me. But I...

01:48:21 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 5:

What if it's five days a week?

01:48:23 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 2:

No, well, I'm saying I was getting concerned because I had, I, like, this was becoming a daily thing and I was like, I will literally punch you in the face

01:48:31 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

if I find out you are smoking every day. It's been a daily thing for a year and a half.

01:48:35 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Sasha?

01:48:36 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 4:

i've always been the non-smoker that went out with the smokers really why would you why would you want to be around all that that i know i don't like it either um but i mean it's the socializing with it really like everybody that i've always known yeah they've always been smokers i've always been the non-smoker i always think by the way that people that have lied to me about

01:49:00 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 5:

their addictions always have good lies are you sure you're not one of those oh no totally promise okay all right well maybe you are maybe megan's not uh lying to us i feel like megan's telling us a lot a bunch of crap no no where's zach at we should have right there we should have mark we should have zach uh ask zach the question if uh without saying really the smoker well zach is a

01:49:25 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 3:

smoker we know zach's a smoker i literally just said i smoked in college i don't know i know but

01:49:28 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 5:

But I think you're smoking here, though, out in the back.

01:49:32 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

Just because you think so? Just because you want to stir it out in the pot?

01:49:36 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead, Zach. I already said my piece with Zach. And you said that you told me one time that one thing you would never do is lie to me. Look me in the eyes.

01:49:42 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 1:

What are we talking about? I honestly have been outside getting Mark.

01:49:47 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 5:

Has Megan ever smoked a cigarette around you?

01:49:50 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 1:

No. Never.

01:49:51 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 5:

Not once. You'll laugh. Mojo's face is so close to that.

01:49:55 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 1:

Smile with you, Ryan.

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Zach, have I ever said? I would kill.

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 2:

for a cigarette right now.

01:50:01 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she said that all the time.

01:50:05 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 2:

A bad day. A bad day. And Zach's like, you want to go to town? I'm like, I want a cigarette.

01:50:10 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't smoke cigarettes. I just want to put that out there. What do you smoke? I'm a breezer. I'm a breezer.

01:50:16 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 2:

Which is also, and you know how much I hate when you do it. I know. I am such a mom. I understand. I know.

01:50:22 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry that I accused you. Megan's hanging out with you and Teresa. She's never put anything in her mouth that she should not have in her mouth. I mean, besides your fingers.

01:50:33 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 2:

How many times has Teresa been like, I can give you one?

01:50:36 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 1:

Every day.

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

And what do I say?

01:50:38 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 1:

No, Teresa, I can't. Teresa's a pusher. She's a pusher, huh? What's up, Chelsea? How you doing?

01:50:44 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys doing?

01:50:45 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good. What's going on? We're hoping to have an intervention here with Megan. What's going on?

01:50:51 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, I used to smoke. I don't anymore. I haven't for a while. um i miss it a lot but i i can't do it because it makes me sick just the smell that makes me sick now so i have to be careful but i um used to talk to a guy and i've actually met a lot of people since then who have done the same thing that will start smoking to get the smoke breaks at work because they feel like people who smoke get more time oh my god genius i used to work in a big call center for h&r block i did tech support yeah and um i i kind of noticed when i quit smoking that because i was a supervisor and i would notice a lot of my team would take off like 10 11 times a day and i'm starting to tally up all the time that they're getting they're getting like a lot more time off during the day but is are they getting that is that all uh like okayed

01:51:47 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 1:

buy the company because i don't think that companies okay you going out and just having

01:51:50 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 4:

smoke breaks that's not like something but they just they don't say anything because try telling a smoker you can't go outside and smoke when you have a stressful job are there any companies that

01:51:59 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 1:

do that to you i've often wondered that are there any companies that say no you can't go out so much but that is interesting because if that's the case i'll fake being a smoker i will say my brother

01:52:08 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 2:

was a manager somewhere and a girl brought in a box of cigarettes and i've always loved my brother for doing this and he said why did you bring those in and she goes the only people that get breaks all the time are the smokers and he was like i will give you all of the breaks give me the box

01:52:21 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 1:

of cigarettes and he threw them away oh wow that's great what a guy what would your brother do if he found out if you were smoking would he be upset with me yeah i mean he saw me doing college yeah

01:52:30 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 3:

jackie what's up hey what's up i worked in a daycare center in the infant room and you know when people drop off the baby you want to smell that johnson and johnson baby smell or not and people that were smokers, they would drop their babies off and the blanket, the bottle, the diapers, the babies would smell like cigarette smoke. And we used to talk to the parents like, hey, you know, if you want to smoke, you know, try not to smoke around the baby because if the baby is coming here smelling this strong like smoke, are you blowing the smoke on the child? Because it was definitely super duper strong, super strong.

01:53:08 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 1:

That's awful. That's so sad when that happens. That's why we hope Zach never has a child here. His kid's going to come into the daycare smelling like weed. What's up, Natalie? Hi, Natalie.

01:53:25 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I used to work at a restaurant, and I don't smoke, but I saw everyone going out, so I used to go out with them just to get my break because I didn't think it was fair. and then i realized that they were taking the extra time out of our paycheck so i'm doing that

01:53:42 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 1:

that's wow wow how did they determine the time though um i think that they just did like an

01:53:50 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 5:

average which i guess is fair if you're going out like for 15 minutes every day like total they would just like take 15 minutes out and i just thought that was like a decent compromise but I didn't want to get subbed for that, so I stopped doing it.

01:54:06 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 1:

That is so interesting. Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate you, and do you believe Megan? Yes, thank you guys.

01:54:13 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 2:

What do you think? I would like to believe Megan. Because I'm such a liar. You're just making sure.

01:54:22 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call. Cheating is a choice. Another world-famous

01:54:26 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 5:

War of the Roses happens at 940 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:29 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to give you tickets to go to see Katy Perry. Katy Perry, just announced, will be at Little Caesars Arena. Tickets are still available, Ticketmaster.com. The show is August the 3rd. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Good luck.

01:54:56 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending.

01:55:00 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 2:

this hour on the dirty and 30 what's going on so kanye west and bianca sensori's little naked stunt as sunday night's grammy awards may have cost him a 20 million dollar international concert deal listen to this story so ye was slated to perform two shows at the tokyo dome this coming may but after his wife basically showed up i mean completely nude on the red carpet the people financing those Japanese shows these investors are strongly reconsidering they are not happy and an insider tells me that it is highly likely that they will pull the funding for these shows with one calling their stunt creepy beyond belief quote-unquote and the source explained to me that Japan is currently experiencing a cultural awakening about women's rights and so they see that red carpet moment as an act of coercive control, which is very, very unacceptable there, especially in the times right now. How was that

01:56:01 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 3:

coercive control? She did it all herself. Did she? I mean, she went up. I mean, we were all assuming that, yeah. He looked like he was annoyed by it, didn't he? No. Really? He loved it. He did?

01:56:12 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 4:

I think that's just his physical disposition. He has this... Where he always looks angry? Yeah, no. If you get Kanye to smile, you've won the lottery.

01:56:18 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

So this person that I'm talking to just says he has basically completely culturally misjudged Japan and the tolerance of the Japanese people toward these sorts of things. And so, like, he's just not as welcome as he once was.

01:56:34 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 3:

I love this story. Did you see who they say was the person that they believe started the rumor that he got kicked out? Don Lemon. Don Lemon. Yeah. They said that Don Lemon was, like, just trying to go viral.

01:56:46 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 2:

And again, he didn't get kicked out. He left on his own volition.

01:56:49 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, he's trying to get his podcast, I guess, listened to.

01:56:52 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 2:

If you saw any photos or videos from the Grammy after parties, I mean, Kanye and Bianca were, they made it to several parties and were having a great time.

01:57:01 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 4:

So there was no, like, you know. I just love that we live in a world where people say Kanye is canceled, yet there's some investors in the world that will pay him $20 million to do a couple shows.

01:57:12 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Love it. Can I play a take that I know Kevin's going to love? That means I'm not going to love it. I love this take.

01:57:19 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hey, you can't annoy me. You can't rub me the wrong way. It's not possible.

01:57:22 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 3:

This is the take on Beyonce winning the best country artist thing at the – hold on a second. Let me pop it through here for you. All right.

01:57:34 - 01:57:35 | Unknown:

Hold on.

01:57:35 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 1:

All right, so what you want me to believe is that Beyonce won no awards at the Country Music Awards. But the Grammy knows country music better than country music people. Beyonce. Sasha Fierce. Whatever ghetto-ass name. All I'm saying is this.

01:58:02 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 4:

I see where this is coming from. Racist. I see where this is coming from.

01:58:06 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

Who is this guy?

01:58:07 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. You played it. You tell me.

01:58:09 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 3:

This is a guy who's gone viral about this whole thing.

01:58:11 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 4:

His racism is showing.

01:58:13 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 3:

Well, he's a black man saying that.

01:58:14 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, that doesn't mean that you can't show a bias towards your own people.

01:58:19 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 3:

That is an interesting take. What was Country Radio saying yesterday? Because we were outraged on pop radio. Was Country Radio outraged about it? Does anybody know?

01:58:29 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't think Macklemore. What did Bobby Bones say? I don't think Macklemore run a bunch of rap albums, but he still walked away with the Grammy. So, I don't know.

01:58:37 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh. I don't know. So, you don't consider Macklemore a rapper?

01:58:41 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 4:

No, I do not think he was better than Kendrick Lamar. And I think his album is better than Good Kid, Mad City. And that's not a hot take. That's just reality. Where is Macklemore?

01:58:50 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Macklemore did the Jingle Ball one year. I thought he was actually good.

01:58:56 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure he's a great performer. He got a couple great songs, but he ain't no Kendrick Lamar.

01:59:00 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

All right. In Other Dirty Today, former president Joe Biden has a new gig. He just signed with CAA, the creative artist agency, the Hollywood mega talent agency that represents tons of A-listers And also, worth noting, former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. They announced that deal yesterday. I kind of, we were talking about this in our group chat. I'm like, wait, what? Why would this ever happen? He was actually repped by CAA prior to becoming president. So I'm assuming there's going to be some sort of book deal or TV deal or speaking deal, something like that. Brian Austin Green taking another shot at Machine Gun Kelly, all while defending his ex, Megan Fox. After MDK tried to downplay all of the rumors that things were not amicable at all, like they're not on speaking terms right now, and I'm talking about he and Megan, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum posted to his Instagram stories yesterday, and here's what he posted. Bro, just be honest for once in your life.

02:00:00 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 1:

Stop caring so much about how you're perceived that you will try and drag other people. And this is the second time that he's come out in defense of his ex. Because back in December, Brian Austin Green slammed MGK amid his breakup with Meghan that time around, noting that he needed to grow up, especially when his girlfriend, well, ex-girlfriend, I can't get track of when they were on or off, was pregnant. So it's interesting that he is coming to her defense. Or not. Everybody's just looking at me.

02:00:29 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 2:

I get bored with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly.

02:00:38 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 1:

I do, too. I just think it's interesting that in the midst of all of this, her ex, who is very happily in a relationship, if I'm not mistaken, is saying, like, hey, step up. You're about to be a dad of this baby that she is carrying, you know. And lastly, the Brazilian butt lift has inspired a new plastic surgery term, and it's called the face BBL. Trademarked by plastic surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Coughlin, the name describes fat transfers to the face. And this is becoming a very, very popular thing. Not to be confused with an already known face procedure, BBL, that's like a light therapy. But plastic surgeons are saying in an effort to have work done that looks natural and understated, people are turning to these face BBLs over fillers, which are very easy to overdo and require more maintenance. And one doctor says basically it's taking fat from one area of your face and then putting fat in another portion of your face. And it's really to create those peaks and valleys that people desire to have like higher cheekbones or like an actual chin where there's no chin. And the cost around $15,000, but one of the fastest rising procedures right now. The Face BBL. Who has this money? Who has this?

02:01:57 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 2:

By the way, people are texting in saying we should ask Mike, since now Mike's on country radio, what country radio. That's actually a good point. I totally forgot about that.

02:02:04 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 1:

We should check in with him.

02:02:05 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 2:

What was the hot take on B93 in Grand Rapids?

02:02:08 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 1:

Maybe in the 930 Dirty, we can get a hold of him. All right, for all of today's Dirty Catch-Up on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:02:17 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to give you a chance to win tickets to see Katy Perry. Got a favorite Katy Perry song? I like, let's see here. What do you like? I like the Kanye joint. Which one? E.T. Oh, E.T. Did I do that one yesterday or which one did I do yesterday?

02:02:48 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:02:48 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 2:

I like.

02:02:49 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 1:

What about Last Friday Night?

02:02:50 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Last Friday Night is an extra.

02:02:51 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Shannon getting all the good songs today. Shannon.

02:02:54 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's a good one. And I like California Girls. Here we go. I got Last Friday Night. All right. Which one is going to be our winner here on the line? Let's go to line number 21. Dove. 02:03:20 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

02:03:21 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 2:

I want you to hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll get some information from you. Show is on sale right now. Get your tickets at Ticketmaster.com. It is on August the 3rd at Little Caesars Arena. Great. Don't go anywhere. Hold on one second. Dove. I'll put her on hold here for a second. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Here's my question right now, and I'm going to ask this as a little open forum topic. Have you ever had a family member screw you? If so, I want to hear from you because I had a thing happen to me that I just found out about, about a family member that actually tried to, like, rob me, tried to steal my credit card. So the story is, and I got to not say names because of my sisters will kill me on this one. I had to cancel my credit cards because I had one credit card specifically because I kept seeing charges appear on it. And I didn't understand what the hell the charges were. And sometimes you do, you know, order something from somewhere and it's a different company or something. So I didn't know what it was.

02:04:32 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 1:

Like the name shows up different. The name shows up.

02:04:35 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, a few months back, we have a family member that is a cousin of ours that was doing some artwork and doing some like different things, you know, making things with their, you know, with art. And my sisters all said, my sisters all came together and told my, you know, me and my brother, Tony and my brother, Bill, hey, it'd be really nice if you supported them, you know, maybe buy something from them. So I'm like.

02:05:00 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 3:

okay, no problem. I'll buy something for him. And I'm like, all right, what's the cheapest thing they got?

02:05:04 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 1:

You're so nice, by the way.

02:05:06 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, Tony's way nicer because I think Tony ended up buying more, but I'm sucker on my face. So I bought it from him. It didn't cost much. Okay, it was a few hundred dollars, like $500, $600. Okay, so I guess it's more than a few. Yeah. And got it, and it's there, and it's nice. Okay. You hate it. Well, I hate it because of the situation even more. Then I started noticing that there was charges that were on my card and I didn't know what it was, but I thought it was me because I'm like going, okay, I could see myself. I bought this and I had to go back and look at things I've ordered online and what I had my, my card attached to. And then finally I just said, screw it. I'm going to cancel my credit card, which by the way, is a great thing to do. If you've never done this before, cancel your credit cards every now and again, call your bank and tell them you need a new credit card number, because then you'll find out what services you've had your card attached to that you don't need.

02:05:56 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 1:

I had to cancel mine because I finally changed my last name on all my bank stuff. And I am blown away.

02:06:02 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm your Dave Ramsey on this one. What I was paying for.

02:06:05 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:06:05 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 3:

So what I found out was that my cousin was using my credit card without my permission to buy things and buy things in a big way of like $1,100 worth of stuff.

02:06:18 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 1:

Wow. What was he buying?

02:06:20 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know. But I don't know. but it was all coming out that the so the bank ended up having to go and do fraud on this it is

02:06:27 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 1:

one thing to scam people strangers it is another thing to scam your own family sometimes it's easier though true but did you have to call this did i don't know if you said boy or girl did you

02:06:40 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 3:

have to call him or her and we we had a conversation have a little intervention we had a conversation and also family had a conversation you know what i do i sick hand pat on them because oh she'll make you feel bad yeah and she's got the time she's like you know she's got the time seriously and pat is like seriously i told pat i said pat you know where you would be great you should work for the you know how in india they have like the the guys that do the the uh hi i'll help you with your customer service problem or whatever they'll have the people that will answer the phone i said pat you should actually see if you can get a job with these guys

02:07:14 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 1:

no she should get a job with the her local police department interrogating people who are suspected of a crime.

02:07:19 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

She'll get it right out of them. Pat would be great with that, and she'd also be, remember back in the day when the malls had the lady with the clipboard that would ask you questions? Do you ever remember that at all? Like, you'd walk through, like, 12 Oaks Mall, and there'd be the lady there, and she'd be like, can I take a couple minutes of your time? And you're like, I am not signing up for your crap. She could work a kiosk at the mall. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who had family? Screw them. Alexa, what's going on?

02:07:48 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. Okay, so my dad is a business owner in Metro Detroit, and he employs a lot of our kind of close and extended family members. One of them stole a heavy piece of machinery from him and went and pawned it. And then the money that he got from pawning that piece of equipment was then stolen by an escort that he had hired. What? Oh, my God. He did not even look at any of the back.

02:08:17 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 3:

Your dad hired a prostitute?

02:08:20 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. The extended family member.

02:08:23 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 3:

Extended family member did. Okay.

02:08:25 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 2:

He employed, yeah.

02:08:27 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, who was this? Like, when you say extended family, was it my situation where it was, like, cousin? Or was it somebody?

02:08:35 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 2:

It was his brother-in-law's brother.

02:08:38 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 3:

His brother-in-law's brother. So it's basically like an in-law. Yeah, like a, that's crazy. And the guy ended up hiring a prostitute that ended up, can you imagine if it wasn't that case where it was the, where now you know, now you know twofold, the guy's hiring prostitutes and he's a, a thief. Karma's a bitch. Rochelle, who do you think it was that was putting charges on, on the account here?

02:09:04 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 2:

I think it's Kev's grandma. Oh my God.

02:09:08 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 4:

I forgot about that. You do not say bad things about grandmama. What is it? By the way, give us an update on that one. She was sneaky. I don't think it was grandma. Grandma has, like, life insurance policies on all of the grandkids and, like, great-grandkids. She buys them when we're, like, super young because they're super cheap. Yeah. And she just makes monthly payments. So when she said, I think it was insurances, that's what she was thinking about.

02:09:33 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. So grandmama buys life insurance on you. So if you die, she's rich? Yeah. Wow. All the grandkids. Wow. That's great. You know what? I'll have a conversation with her later. What's up, Patty? How you doing?

02:09:47 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm good. How are you guys?

02:09:49 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 3:

Good. We're talking about how did family screw you?

02:09:52 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 2:

I actually had a family member that bought a house and a car in my name, and I literally had to take them to court.

02:10:00 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 3:

house and a car a house and a car how were they able to do that because you need like specific information well my sister had stolen i okay so my there's a big long story behind it she was going through a lot had a substance abuse problem stole my birth certificate my driver's license went into this car dealership purchased the car to begin with had the money for the down payment don't know where she got that from i hate to even try and think where she got it from then after that six months later because she was making the payments on this vehicle went in to purchase the house with that no money down thing first time buyer whole buyer thing it's been in my name i literally just got the house in the car taken care of and just found out she's got sixteen thousand dollars in credit cards that are in my name as well oh my god it's horrible and it's probably a nicer car than what you're driving um well it was when the car dealership found out that the car actually belonged to me they asked me if i wanted it and of course i did

02:11:09 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

yeah i mean you've been paying for it exactly carly who was the family member that uh robbed

02:11:16 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 2:

you so that was my mother-in-law oh my god your mother-in-law that's yeah so what happened was her father passed away and he um you know left everything to her she's only child and he was well off and the house had paid off so now she's well off um and she offered to sell us the house and then we were also going to be able to put like money into it to remodel it to make it like a real home well she hired the person and we would talk to the guy that was helping us remodel it but then we talked to them then she would talk to them later and then it would be like stuff that would hike up the price and we found out about it and it got too bad and we just pulled out

02:11:55 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 1:

the whole thing unreal god can you imagine your mother-in-law like you think you got mother-in-law problems when your mother-in-law rob you uh initial a is with us right now your sister stole from you and what did your sister steal

02:12:10 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

hello hi are you there hey oh initial a mojo you don't have her picked up i don't it didn't

02:12:21 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 1:

click in there you go initial a are you there hi i'm here how are you good you're what did

02:12:27 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 4:

your sister steal from you no not my sister my dad your dad yes he asked me for my social security number so that i could be his beneficiary and we haven't spoken in 15 years what so what did he end up like stealing he was trying to just get a hold of my information thought that i would share my social security so did you give it to him no of course not

02:13:00 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 1:

but then how did you find out if you didn't give it to him that he was not telling the truth, that he was going to actually give you money.

02:13:08 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 4:

Because you don't need a social security beneficiary. God, you're smart. Yes, you do. I just did it. You do. Not if it's your child.

02:13:19 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Really? So you just put your child down as your beneficiary? No, I have life insurance here at the station. I just put my kids down. I didn't put their social security

02:13:26 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 4:

down. Well, for some things, you do need it.

02:13:29 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 1:

You don't need it. Wow, that's interesting. So you knew that your dad was that much of a scammer that he was doing

02:13:34 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 4:

that for you? Yes, he's taking money from multiple people.

02:13:39 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's crazy. Wow. And it's

02:13:42 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 4:

your own dad. That's so sad. God.

02:13:44 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, listen, it's one thing to write off like a cousin in my case. It's another thing that when you got to write off your dad. Thanks. Man. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. Paying bills coming up next in Amityville. Pay your bills?

02:13:58 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 4:

02:14:02 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 4:

02:14:08 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:14:16 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:14:18 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 1:

Live. Mojo in the Morning. You can pay him bills in moments here. We're going to give you a chance to win $1,000. We will kick it off for the morning. Ooh, put that thing anywhere. Whoa. Ouch. That hurt.

02:14:41 - 02:14:42 | Unknown:

Thanks.

02:14:42 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

What did you just do? Knock the mic? I did? I heard a big bang. Okay, so we're going to pay your bills. We're going to pay them. And I don't know if this will pay all of them, but $1,000 is good. So your chance to win in just the next 10 minutes, okay? it's time now on mojo in the morning for am i the

02:15:00 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 6:

a-hole, this is where we give some advice to a fellow listener and try to help out a situation where you're starting to feel like maybe you did something you shouldn't have. If you have an am I the a-hole type of problem going on right now, maybe you worry about something that you did at work or home, whatever it might be. If you are listening to us on the iHeart app, go check out channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app. The reason why we do that is because that's the only one I have a password to. But we have the talkback microphone on there. And at that talkback microphone, you can leave us a message. It could basically be, hey, you're an a-hole. Yeah. Yeah. I almost said the word. A-hole. So if you want to tell us a situation that you've done, you can do it on the talkback mic. Here's the one from this morning that we're going to try

02:15:53 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 4:

to test out today the okay so my friend is straight ghosting me after she said that she wouldn't care if I started seeing this guy and now she's just disaffirking paired and

02:16:06 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 6:

I just feel so hypocritical interesting so her friend is ghosting her so where's the a-hole part for her. The fact that she is dating who she's dating. Mad.

02:16:24 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 3:

Is she asking of her friend? I'm confused. Let's talk to her.

02:16:29 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 6:

Her name is Jess. Jess is on. So Jess, what is it that makes you think that you're an a-hole? Or are we judging your friend if your friend's an a-hole?

02:16:41 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, I could go either way. So, oh. I, I kissed this boy that my friend used to like, and like hook up with a few years ago. And even though she has like a totally new boyfriend now, and she told me that she wouldn't care like at all. She's now caring. And that she doesn't have feelings for him anymore. Like she's like, okay, this is good. I like it. Disappearing.

02:17:10 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 6:

Let me focus on trying to help you alleviate any guilt. is just an a-hole for kissing a boy that her friend had a crush on or had feelings for at one point because her friend is in a relationship right now and she's moved on so is she an a-hole and go back again you told her that you were going to do it or you told her that you did do it so you already kissed him and then you told her or you asked if it's for permission to kiss because i don't believe anybody asked permission can i kiss the person okay that's fair yeah i kissed

02:17:45 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 5:

this boy and then i told her about it okay all right there you go open all right so let's clarify

02:17:52 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 6:

that because that's a good clarification because honestly i get it all right you kiss the guy he is a free agent he's able to be signed by any team especially your team and uh and she is a taken person she's under contract with somebody right I don't know I don't you know what I can see where if you're friends with somebody like there are people that you know you may say oh wow well that was the one person I wish I could have been in a relationship with but it never

02:18:22 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 7:

happened I feel like my only kind of thought process with the friend is like did you say anything negative about this man and what was your intentions on it that caused them to split No, I mean, were they ever to get?

02:18:36 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 6:

Wait, was that girl ever or was she ever together with this guy or was this a crush?

02:18:43 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 5:

No, it was just like a hookup. Like it wasn't even that serious. And I was trying to be forthcoming about it. And she told me she wasn't going to be mad. And now my birthday is coming up. And this is just annoying.

02:18:56 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 1:

Can I say, though, as the friend, I can understand why she would be upset if you bring like if you guys are spending time. together with your significant others and now you're bringing somebody from her past around but especially with a new guy and you're inviting them him into the inner circle again you could make things very awkward by doing that i agree with you however the friend said it doesn't matter

02:19:21 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 2:

this doesn't bother me go ahead right they're probably so you don't want to look like it

02:19:27 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 7:

matters so you have to play it off like it doesn't matter and it wasn't like she asked permission

02:19:32 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 1:

pre she said hey this happened i disagree with you kev i i don't think you need to say like yes i

02:19:38 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

would be um you know i would be pissed off if you guys started dating but for her to even say like i feel like it might make me kind of uncomfortable but like you i i am not you know the boss of you yeah no that's okay you can tell i have a seven-year-old i'm not the boss of you but like But for her to give like her

02:20:00 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 5:

You know, yeah, but that's what I'm saying. I don't think you can't go back on it. I don't think you disagree with me. I think we're saying the same thing. I'm not saying you have to like put your foot in the sand, but acknowledge if you do feel uncomfortable. I think oftentimes people feel uncomfortable and they act like they're perfectly fine with it, which it sounds like this is what her friend did.

02:20:17 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 6:

I want to know, and I'm petty it like this, who's better looking, the guy that you made out with that your friend obviously still has feelings for or the current guy that she's with?

02:20:30 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, the current guy that she's with is pretty nerdy, and this guy, he's pretty nerdy. There's the problem.

02:20:37 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 6:

There's the problem right there. Do girls, here's a question for you, Jess, and for Shannon and Megan, Lydia and KP. Do girls have a girl code? Because guys, we always talk about guy code, but do girls have a girl code when it comes to stuff like this? Like, are certain people off limits? They do have a girl code.

02:20:57 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 4:

See, I would say it's more the girl code is you have to have a conversation about it.

02:21:02 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 6:

So, okay, so there's no girl code like you don't do it. Like I'm not going to, I would never, if I were a single, I would never date Kev's ex because I would never do it because he's a friend of mine, although I'd want to. Would you hit some of her friends? Would I hit some of her friends? I've never really met a lot of her friends. But I, you know, but I mean, like, if I was, like, would it bother you if one of your guys starts dating your ex-girl?

02:21:31 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 5:

If it was surreal, yeah. If it was anybody else, no.

02:21:33 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 6:

Because this was a woman that you were planning on marrying.

02:21:35 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 4:

But even still, like, I just feel like it's just, like, if Megan went out with somebody and she was like, yeah, I'm not really feeling him or whatever. And then KP or Lydia was like, oh, he's kind of cute. Five months later, I might want to go out with him. I would hope that the girl code is they say, okay, it didn't work out with you and this guy. Are you going to feel weird if I go out with him? No, I don't want him around.

02:21:58 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you don't want, that's a good point.

02:21:59 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and that's fine. But what I'm saying is the girl code to me is at least having a conversation about it.

02:22:04 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 7:

Right, but if I say no to you, then I'm the girl hater who doesn't want you to be happy. And I'm just jealous. And I don't, like, I would be the bad guy in that situation.

02:22:14 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 6:

So you shouldn't even have to say it.

02:22:16 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 7:

That's what I think. Is it an expiration date? Okay.

02:22:18 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 5:

You brought up like five months. If it's two years from now, is it okay then? Or is it just the close time proximity?

02:22:23 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 6:

All right, let me go to calls here real quick. I don't know. It depends on what the length of the contract is.

02:22:28 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

02:22:28 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 6:

And if you're...

02:22:30 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 5:

Under player option or team option.

02:22:31 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, exactly. Otherwise, you get traded to the Lakers out of the blue. What's up, Kat? You there, Kat?

02:22:37 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm here. There is a girl code, and you cannot sleep with or talk to anyone else your girlfriend has already talked to.

02:22:45 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 6:

What about simple kisses? Simple kisses. This is a kiss. That's what Jess did. She kissed him.

02:22:52 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 3:

No, it doesn't matter. If my girlfriend talked to some other guy, you don't even talk to them. You confuse yourself from the room. Why would you want anything?

02:23:03 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 6:

She's an a-hole then, you're saying, right?

02:23:06 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 3:

You're an a-hole because your girlfriend was being nice and telling you it's not going to matter. But it does. It shows your true colors. There's plenty of other fish in the sea. Go pick another one.

02:23:16 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I got to be honest. I see these guys dating these days, and those fish seem awfully ratting. What's up, Mo?

02:23:23 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 7:

You're not ratting. You're not ratting. You're not ratting.

02:23:27 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Mo?

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 2:

I hate to say it, but just the a-hole.

02:23:33 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

02:23:34 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 2:

You don't mess with no, if that's your girl. You don't mess, I don't care if it's 50 years down the line. You don't go mess with your girl's ass, because you've been eyeing it all the long, even when it was not my ex.

02:23:48 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:23:48 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 7:

Say it louder for the people in the back.

02:23:50 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 6:

We should, by the way, Lydia, we should see if anybody's ever gotten with somebody else's ex and done more than just messed around, but actually married or whatever. That's a good call here. Joe, what's up? Thoughts? Is Jess an a-hole?

02:24:05 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 1:

You say what, Mojo?

02:24:07 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 6:

This is called Am I the A-hole, so I'm wondering is Jess, who you just heard from, she's the one that sent us the talk back and we just talked to, Is she an a-hole for kissing this guy?

02:24:18 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 1:

So, like, what Cass said was, like, if it's just something long-term, all bets are off. But if it's something short-term, A, none, all hands on dick.

02:24:28 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 4:

Which she said it was just all hook-ups.

02:24:30 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so it's just a kiss, yes.

02:24:32 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 4:

I do think that figures into it, though.

02:24:35 - 02:24:35 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:24:35 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't?

02:24:37 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 6:

I've tried to set up my asses.

02:24:39 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 4:

I know, I'm weird. I agree. I am weird.

02:24:42 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 6:

tammy what's going on is uh do we have an a-hole here um no i think it really depends on the

02:24:52 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

situation if the person has like a long-standing relationship and you know depending on how they ended if you are a true adult and

02:25:00 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 6:

you put your feelings aside like you're already with somebody new and you've already had that conversation because you are a good friend if you've had it then there should be no reason why you can't be adults and get along and you know if you do have unresolution feelings there then you know that's kind of like something that she has to work through but at the same time if it's her birthday she should be able to be like okay you know i can put my feelings aside for one day yes I agree to this, so you can't really renege and say, oh, no, not after the fact, because it's already established.

02:25:34 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 3:

But what you're saying here is I'm putting a new man above the feelings of my friend because my friend should just get over it.

02:25:45 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 6:

Not necessarily. She does have a boyfriend, though, a new one. so if she is in a new relationship and she hasn't said hey this makes me uncomfortable

02:25:55 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

and they both agreed on it then it shouldn't be a problem it is petty though it is petty that she's not calling her back or talking to her that's like really passive aggressive of her to do well what is she supposed to say i think that you just say hey i'm upset by it i'm i was wrong

02:26:10 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 3:

you know when i said just be honest i'll give you that that's fair that's fair but i don't think her feelings are invalid or she's not being adult because her feelings are hurt sometimes people's

02:26:21 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 2:

feelings are invalid as far as i'm concerned we gotta be honest sandra let's not be nice uh sandra is a big one here ready uh am i the a-hole and i'm gonna save your whether you think she's an a-hole or not until you tell us you married your best friend's ex-boyfriend let's go one of my

02:26:43 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 4:

friends you hooker um no it was it was an innocent situation my husband of now um had a crush on one of my friends and we all kind of met at the similar time and uh we my friend ended up you know not like kind of had a little fling nothing maybe like a simple kiss that kind of thing but nothing major and then um she went off to the navy a couple months later my husband or my husband now we kind of like reconnected and we are married almost 20 years now and it's been amazing and you never know what god has for you i think it just you just gotta be patient and i knew he was a good guy i wasn't really interested in him while they were like kind of liking each other but i liked his character and he was a good man and i you know i had didn't really like him at the time but i as a you know interest but a couple months down the road it worked out great and we

02:27:42 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 2:

had two kids and married and her loss is your game thanks i i like this and what's your relationship

02:27:49 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 4:

with your uh friend uh well we you know like we were still friends a little bit over the years But she had her own, no, she, well, she had a, she was a little bit, she had a little crazy of a life even before when we were friends. And so she just wasn't, you know, she just had her own, you know, you're very kind.

02:28:13 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 2:

I like it. What is your relationship with your friend? What friend?

02:28:19 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 1:

Mojo. Yes.

02:28:20 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 2:

I got another good call.

02:28:21 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's go to the call.

02:28:22 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 2:

Are you sure? I'll save mine. Save your question, because are you going to ask me if I'm going to set Sherelle up on dates? Because I'm going to. We're playing the dating game. I'm asking about Chelsea. Oh, you want to date Chelsea?

02:28:33 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 1:

No, let's answer the call.

02:28:34 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 2:

We'll circle back. Haley, you there?

02:28:39 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what's up?

02:28:40 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

Haley lost a friend. Is that right?

02:28:45 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I lost my best friend because she went behind my back and fooled around with someone. I, prior to, fooled around with a lot, and I would always tell her about him, and I found out that she slept with him and lied about it to me for two weeks.

02:29:05 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what's wrong, by the way? You sold that guy so great to her that her vagina was tingling every time you talked about how great he was.

02:29:16 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, I would say about, he wasn't the nicest person to me, so I would always talk about that, too.

02:29:21 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 2:

But you talked about how great he was in bed probably, right?

02:29:27 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I did describe him down there pretty accurately. That's probably what's told him.

02:29:33 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 2:

You know what you don't do? You don't do this. You know how we tell our friends, oh, my God, I went to this restaurant the other night. I had the greatest meal ever. What you do when you do that is now you just pass that meal along to your friend. They're going to go to that restaurant too. You don't do it with guys.

02:29:48 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, I didn't know that that would happen, and it sucks because we're nice to be really close, but I feel like he was never truly my friend.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 3:

I liked how you told her how great he was down there. I want to know. What was so great about him down there?

02:30:05 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 1:

He was pretty big down there.

02:30:07 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Really? We like him big, huh?

02:30:09 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What are you doing?

02:30:12 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. I have to be honest with you. When I go to a restaurant and they have the four-ounce filet and the eight-ounce filet, I always go for the eight-ounce filet. You went for the eight-ounce filet, didn't you, Haley?

02:30:23 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I feel like all these sentences need to be done with, right, ladies?

02:30:27 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

I want to know where Kevin was going with his question for Chelsea. Where's your question? Go ahead, Kevin. I don't know. I mean, we're on the topic of, you know, friends hooking up with friends, exes. If you and Chelsea broke up, are there any of her friends that you could, like, potentially see or so forth? Oh, you're going there? Hold on a second. It's like the Petey Pablo song.

02:30:48 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 1:

List them. I think the more interesting question is the other way around. Does Mojo have any friends with Chelsea? Chelsea, by the way.

02:30:58 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 3:

Poor Chelsea would have nobody to pick from out of my friends. It would be such a sad day for her.

02:31:05 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 2:

02:32:46 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, two employees at the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority, So Reagan National essentially have been arrested over leaking video of the American Airlines plane colliding with that Black Hawk Army helicopter last week. The video was released or leaked, I should say, to CNN. 21-year-old Mohammed Bang was arrested back on January 31st, charged with something called computer trespass. Authorities then a few days later charged a 45-year-old man named Jonathan Savoy with the same thing. They're kind of being tight-lipped about whether or not additional individuals could face charges related to this as the investigation unfolds. It's also unclear to me whether the employees sold the video to CNN and made some money here or gave it away for free. Also, the latest update, as of this morning, 55 of the 67 bodies have so far been recovered from the Potomac River. So they have 12 more to find and identify. Wow. diddy in the dirty for the second day in a row this time some new accusations he is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting an aspiring male singer back in 2015 this lawsuit was filed yesterday by that texas-based attorney tony busby in new york county supreme court um the man only wants to be identified as john dofer right now he claims he had a business relationship with diddy He alleges the assault took place at an after party in L.A. He was 23 years old at the time. I mean, this story is like the cookie cutter. He said Diddy had allegedly promised him a record deal with Bad Boy and also some studio time with Diddy. And then, you know, as as the talks were happening, this alleged assault took place. When does the trial start? Was it May? Yes. May 5th, I believe, is the actual day. Cinco de Mayo. I don't remember all these trials. This one, the Blake-Justin Baldoni trial. There's so many trials that are big ones.

02:34:44 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 3:

They need to bring back a court TV. Did they get a court TV with all these things that are going on these days?

02:34:48 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 2:

Remember that show? Honestly, the Blake-Lively-Justin Baldoni, both of these trials, the Diddy and that one, I would sit and watch all day long.

02:34:58 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Look at Amber Heard and Johnny.

02:35:00 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 4:

That's what that did. I ran home every day to go watch that. You don't run, no. Well, you do not. I didn't run. I drove fast home.

02:35:07 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 3:

You run. You run.

02:35:08 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I'm a little bit svelte.

02:35:11 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't run. You've been consistent, man.

02:35:14 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 4:

I walk fast. I walk fast.

02:35:15 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 5:

What speed do you walk on that treadmill every day?

02:35:18 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's probably not that good to say, but I'd walk at 3.2.

02:35:22 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 5:

Wait, that's fat. That's what I do. I do 3.5 at 3.5. Really?

02:35:26 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 3:

Not with legs like mine.

02:35:28 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Joe, you're walking.

02:35:30 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Like, let's celebrate the win.

02:35:32 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 5:

Is there an incline?

02:35:33 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 4:

I have no incline, but I do have YouTube TV.

02:35:40 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 5:

Former Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic was in tears after finding out he was being traded to the Lakers, according to former Mavs star Chandler Parsons. Not making things better? Rumor has it that Luka just plunked down 15 million bucks for a brand new mansion in Dallas.

02:36:00 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. My biggest issue was professionally, respectfully, how they handled that. Me and Lou were good players. Lou, much better than I was. And Luka, his career has been unbelievable. Most of those star players have a dynamic and a dialogue with front office, with ownership on what's going to happen. I find it extremely disrespectful. I find it horrific, bad business for you just to go and do this. And I'm also not buying that Jay Kidd just didn't know. I know you have to keep it in-house. I know you have to keep it close to tight, especially nowadays with social media. And Sean somehow gets in there and finds everything out. But I just think this is bad business when you draft this guy. This dude just bought a $15 million house. Just closed, like, last week in Dallas. Apparently, he cried, like, when he found out. And this is your everything. He took you to the conference finals last year. I just find it extreme BS. And I think the narrative needs to change around when players make decisions like this to understand that more. That's better for their future, their family, their life.

02:36:57 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 4:

It's interesting. You never see these stars that get traded like this. And it's really wild to see the reaction of the NBA players to this, including reaction of who is it that I played a clip from to you, Kev?

02:37:12 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Anthony Edwards.

02:37:13 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:37:13 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 3:

The star of the Minnesota Timberwolves. What's his nickname?

02:37:16 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 4:

Ant-Man. Ant-Man. who was talking about this trade and how star players beware because this is interesting. This has changed the dynamic of sports. Hold on. Let me see if I can find this clip for you to have here. But there you go.

02:37:34 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Ant-Man was defeated by Luka in order to go to the front.

02:37:38 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. At 25, they traded probably the best score in the NBA at 25. and he didn't know about it. So there's a lot more digging somebody got to do to find out why he got traded because you don't just trade him at 25. He just went to the finals, you know what I'm saying? So I feel bad for Luca, man, because I saw some on YouTube that said he just bought a crib and everything at Dallas. So that sucks, man. That sucks. Does it inform, like, if you were 23? Everybody get informed, yeah. I was going to say, like, wait in the car, how you see the league? I'm scared. Tim, hey, if you're going to trade me, Let me know, dog.

02:38:15 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

You know what's interesting? We have just been traded. We just got traded.

02:38:19 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Where did we get traded to?

02:38:20 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 4:

We got traded to 106.7. The, what is it? Wheels? What do they call that station now? I don't know. Wheels. What do they call that station now? That station has been, in my 25 years of radio in this company, that station has been more stations than any other radio station I have ever seen in my life.

02:38:37 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 2:

I just bought a house.

02:38:38 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 4:

They're going to call it 106.7 Megan Radio. What do you think, Megan?

02:38:44 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I thought Tony would hate it. Another station for you. I thought Tony would hate it. And finally, women are calling men out for grunting, slurping, and breathing heavily in classes at the gym. Oh, really? Thank you, God. One woman on TikTok asked why they are making a more unnecessary noise than everyone else. She said, why can't you just be seen and not heard? It's annoying and we all secretly hate you. Her commenters agreed, saying it's crazy that the guys have to make more noise than everybody else. At the gym in general, but especially like in classes. And she isn't the only creator on social media who feels this way. Another influencer I saw shared a video on Instagram where she said not to be dramatic or anything. But if there is a man in my Pilates class, my day is automatically ruined because of all of the noises.

02:39:45 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny? This is really funny. This is coming up right now because I want to do a bit with Kevin. Because you ever notice when we have like a collar on or something happens, Kevin always goes, mm, yeah, mm, mm. And he does like the little.

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 6:

There's always a soundbite.

02:40:01 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 2:

But his soundbite of him doesn't change based on the story. Like the person could call up and say, I just found out my husband's cheating on me. He'll go, hmm. And then the person can say, I just found out that I got a race at work. A little bit more hot page.

02:40:21 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 1:

Your ums, we should actually, Zach, pull Kevin's ums. And then we have to guess the story of what was said beforehand. I'm going to be sad. Don't do it, Zach.

02:40:34 - 02:40:39 | Speaker 6:

02:40:51 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Shay, tell me if I'm right in saying this. that you think that your guy is possibly having an inappropriate relationship with his sister or stepsister? Yes. And why is that?

02:41:09 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't have any, like, hard evidence. They're just, they're really, I don't know, they talk all the time. They FaceTime all the time with each other. Whenever he has a work event that he's going to, he always invites her and not me. I mean, I guess I have, like, I've looked at his phone and I've seen flirty kind of text messages back and forth, or what I interpret as flirty. It just seems...

02:41:35 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 2:

So they have a really close relationship, but you say it's close in kind of a weird way?

02:41:40 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's not like any relationship I've encountered before. I mean, and they're not real siblings, they're step-siblings, and there's just something going on there.

02:41:50 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Have you said anything to him about it? Like, have you said, I'm not comfortable with how you guys are with each other?

02:41:58 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, I kind of started to once, and it just seemed like he wasn't going to react well.

02:42:04 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Do you have a good relationship with her?

02:42:09 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 4:

Um, you know, I'd say it was good. Um, we're not close like they are, but, um.

02:42:18 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

um all right so your thought is that these two guys talk inappropriate together they act inappropriate together they spend too much time together and you feel like it's gone past just

02:42:31 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 6:

being good friends yeah that's right and brother and sister like i kind of feel like i need

02:42:38 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 4:

an example of in like you said flirty text messages like she'll share her outfit with him for the day, and they'll be like, oh, cute. You know?

02:42:50 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of weird that you do that with your brother

02:42:52 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 5:

and your sister. Yeah, okay. I see that. Did they grow up together, or did they meet each other, like, later in life?

02:43:00 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 4:

Like, 17. They were, like, I think they were both, and they're around the same age. So he's a year older than her. So he was 17, and she was 16.

02:43:09 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 2:

How old are you guys? How old is he?

02:43:12 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 4:

He's 32.

02:43:14 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

So they've had a good portion of their life together, but they

02:43:16 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 5:

also met each other in their teenage years okay do you have a relationship with the stepsister

02:43:21 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 4:

like are you guys friendly yeah we're friendly i mean we're not like hanging out i'm not inviting her to my work events like he is um but yeah we get along all right we're gonna uh do a three-way

02:43:37 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 2:

call so what we do is we will call them both up at the same time try to make it be that they think that each other is calling them and then see what they sound like when they're having a conversation. You have to be extremely quiet on this by muting your phone.

02:43:57 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Just remember, the more we can listen to them, the more info helps us get.

02:44:04 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Alright, we're trying to find out what's going on. Is Shea getting cheated on by her boyfriend's sister? It's the War of the Roses.

02:44:35 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 6:

Hello?

02:44:40 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello?

02:44:45 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up? Hey, what's up? Uh, hey. Nothing. What's up with you?

02:45:00 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 3:

I mean, nothing. I'm just going about my day. Why'd you call me?

02:45:10 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 4:

I didn't call you. But whatever. Are you on the way to work?

02:45:21 - 02:45:22 | Speaker 3:

Almost, yeah.

02:45:23 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 4:

You think you can still get time off for Mom's trip?

02:45:30 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't know yet. To be honest, I don't really think I should go to that.

02:45:38 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Why? You're basically family.

02:45:42 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to go if Shay's there. She makes me uncomfortable.

02:45:50 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, I mean, she can deal with it. Yeah, I mean, you're

02:45:58 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

You're allowed to be there too Yeah, but you need to work on making mom like her This is not my problem

02:46:09 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's just Things are just easier when you're around, you know

02:46:16 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, again I can't fix all your relationships

02:46:21 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 4:

yeah yeah I know it's I mean we're just it's just you showing up it's just party

02:46:38 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 3:

I already said like I'm not sure I'm really comfortable going so

02:46:45 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm not I'm not trying to get you to fix anything

02:46:51 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 3:

just like show up and show up for me you know just be there okay i mean i i still don't know if i can even get off work so it doesn't even matter if i want to go yet before i can even decide what i want i would have to see if i could even make it possible

02:47:10 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 4:

okay yeah that makes sense I mean you're not you know I'm not expecting anything of you just I don't know

02:47:32 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 3:

you're expecting me to be there but okay

02:47:34 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, anyway Why did you call me again?

02:47:43 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 3:

I didn't call you, you called me

02:47:45 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 4:

It's been an accident or something

02:47:50 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 1:

Actually, we called you guys Charles?

02:47:59 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

02:47:59 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 1:

Charles, this is him. Charles this is the mojo in the morning show and we called you up because we have Shay on the phone with us and Shay was just trying to see what you guys sound like talking to each other because she feels awkward with your relationship that you have.

02:48:24 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 4:

Uh what relationship? What do you mean?

02:48:29 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 1:

And Shay feels uncomfortable with the relationship that you have with your sister, Alexa.

02:48:42 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm kind of uncomfortable now. I don't understand.

02:48:50 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. I'm just a little bit stunned here, Charles. I don't, apparently everyone's uncomfortable because I just heard Alexa say she's always uncomfortable around me. Why wouldn't she be a human and just say that to me?

02:49:02 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 1:

Is that who she's talking about, Shay? They were talking about you?

02:49:08 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She was talking about me. Like, she's not comfortable around me. And your mom doesn't like me? When were you going to tell me? I don't have any words right now. I can't. What is going on? You're the weird family. I mean, I'm the normal one.

02:49:33 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 1:

When we were listening into your guys' conversation, because Shay had said that you guys are incredibly close, almost too close. I mean, you understand why they probably don't feel comfortable or why Charles' sister doesn't feel comfortable, because you make it seem like these guys are doing something with each other, and I don't think there's anything going on here other than family.

02:49:55 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

yeah i mean she's allowed to be

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable right now.

02:50:05 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Maybe I'm the crazy one. Yeah, I just, I don't know. I don't feel like this conversation was indicative of their normal chat. I don't know what's going on. What were you expecting? You guys talk constantly. You're constantly, like, FaceTiming. FaceTiming. Who FaceTimes anyone but, like, their partner or their very best friend?

02:50:35 - 02:50:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but their brother and sister.

02:50:37 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 2:

So you didn't say that before. I don't think that that part is weird.

02:50:40 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 3:

I FaceTimed my sister.

02:50:41 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 2:

I FaceTimed my brother. Can we ask? Yeah, but, like, all day, I don't know. Can we ask your stepsister, Alexa, why she said she has a problem with Shay?

02:50:53 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to get involved in this.

02:50:55 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 3:

maybe she doesn't have a comfortable relationship because she's being accused of having a relationship with her uh her brother listen i get it why don't you maybe she has a relationship

02:51:10 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

with her brother and so that's why she doesn't want to talk about it i don't know i did not get that one bit i mean and again that that is one phone call but i just i really didn't I got a lot of people who are trying to avoid you.

02:51:31 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 3:

Shay, why don't you hang on the phone for a second? Okay. All right, hold on one second. Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:51:50 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning Show. War of the Roses did not catch a cheater, but did get some very honest comments about how family feels about Shea. It's an interesting situation that's going on here. I will tell you this. The idea that Shea is accusing her boyfriend of cheating with his stepsister and then there was no proof, at least, in that audio call that we had on the three-way, It's going to make things very awkward for her when she gets around the family. Jessica, you had something like this happen to you, huh?

02:52:57 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 1:

Unfortunately, yes. It was horrible.

02:53:00 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 3:

What happened? Were you dating a guy that ended up cheating with his stepsister?

02:53:06 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. We dated for a solid six months. And, yeah, that's short. But that's how it goes. It starts. And he started feeling distant. I'm like, okay, well, we was fine. Why so distant? I started going through his phone messages or through the phone. Of course, every girl should. And, well, when I seen it, I seen his sister's name. I'm okay. They're brother sisters, pet sisters. And then dig a little deeper. Start seeing more than just messages. It was videos. Okay. I was done.

02:53:38 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 3:

What kind of videos? Oh, God.

02:53:42 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 1:

Radio appropriate. Right. Not that you should send somebody who you consider family. Put it that way.

02:53:49 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow. But videos of them. Videos of him to her and her to him.

02:53:55 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 1:

It was all the above. Like, I'll keep it PG. They didn't grow up together. They met when they were in their 20s. And then they ended up getting married. They're still married to this day.

02:54:08 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:54:09 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:54:10 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 3:

I wonder how did their families take it that they did this?

02:54:13 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 1:

At first, everybody was mad because it was more siblings involved because there was 10 all together. So they all grew up knowing, oh, that's my brother, that's my sister, knowing of them. But then they didn't live in the same state. So then when he moved back to the same state, it was hell.

02:54:35 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 3:

Wow. All right. Well, that is, by the way, that is something that...

02:54:40 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 1:

It does happen.

02:54:41 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 3:

You only see in adult movies.

02:54:44 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 1:

Is that wrong, though? Yes.

02:54:45 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, if y'all 20 years old. No, listen.

02:54:49 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 1:

Technically, no, but morals. Some people should have morals. How's that morals? Technically, no, but I think everybody would say, yeah, it's weird. I'm 20 years old, right? I'm out, I'm an adult, I'm doing my own thing, and then this person comes into my life, I think that that could happen. I think it would be common that that could happen at that age. It would be wrong in this case. How about this case where these guys were high schoolers, it sounded like, with Shay's boyfriend. What's going on, Summer? How are you?

02:55:22 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning, guys. Morning.

02:55:24 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 1:

What's happening?

02:55:26 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 4:

So I just kind of feel like everybody just made her feel uncomfortable for like bringing her concerns i feel like she kind of had a little bit of a right for being concerned and that her boyfriend should allow her know that her family's not getting along with her or that they feel uncomfortable around her because she she felt something was going on there and for nobody to bring up their concerns to her was kind of just like a little bit worrisome

02:55:48 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 2:

so i actually agree with you in that this i feel like shed a lot of light on just his character as a partner as a boyfriend yeah because like i mean i have so many siblings and

02:55:59 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 4:

i don't face them 24 7 not even about that not even about not even about his relationship with

02:56:06 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 2:

alexa but more so like he clearly doesn't have her back within his family he clearly doesn't put his foot down for her he's not bringing her this information that she's not really well liked and Let's like figure this out and get to the bottom of like, there's none of that.

02:56:22 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And also, I think that it sounds from just him that he's concerned about the family's not showing up at stuff just because of her.

02:56:34 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:56:34 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 1:

Instead of saying, hey, either I'm going to side with my family or I'm going to make my family go stop this already.

02:56:40 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 2:

You know, that's what I mean. Yeah.

02:56:42 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 1:

Put his foot down. Shauna wants to make a comment on a word that was said or a phrase that was said during that thing. What is that?

02:56:48 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 5:

shauna i heard so i know a couple things that he had said where it's obvious that he cheated he cheated um tell us one is when she said i don't feel comfortable around her i don't think i should go he said come on you're practically like family

02:57:08 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 1:

he said that to to his sister yes how does that show that they're cheating yeah

02:57:15 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 5:

so two any real sister would miss their mom's event over a spouse right or feel uncomfortable in any way to their brother's girlfriend unless yeah but it's not her mom you'd be there i and

02:57:30 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 1:

she says i don't feel comfortable around her meaning she didn't feel comfortable around shay but also you're saying you're like family i get that you're like family meaning hey if it was your sister you'd say you're my sister and that's your mom you know what i mean like it there was i don't make me feel weird i don't think that that says that they're cheating but it does make it seem like their relationship may not be as close and obviously i took that uh mom is is uh his mom and not her mom because if it was her mom she's not missing that right uh tabor wants to say something you say he's 100% getting with his stepsister um yeah like I don't know when I was

02:58:14 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 3:

listening to it she sounded like she wasn't really into it and then he was begging her to come and saying oh like come on like I want you there everything like that but when I observed from the phone call she was like no and maybe she felt a little bit uncomfortable with um him wait did you

02:58:33 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 1:

tell Lydia when you called he's 100% getting with his stepsister did you use those words yes but then you're like not 100% right now you're like wishy-washy all right

02:58:45 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 3:

well I thought you had some good evidence you got no evidence he did well plus the pictures that they were texting with the outfits and everything being like oh that's a cute outfit that's just so

02:58:57 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 1:

weird you don't do that that is a weird thing that that's so that is so odd yeah i i actually think a good topic that could come out of this thing and you know we could see what people have but i'd love to get into a topic of uh how did you find out that family or somebody didn't like you how'd you overhear the thing because i'll say this hearing them talk to each other in that three-way call i gotta give shay a lot of credit because we've had war of the roses people that have unmuted themselves and said something if you start hearing somebody saying things that's a hurt feeling right there so i don't know if anybody's had a situation like that happen to them but i feel for her that that's going on that she said and had to listen to the fact that not only does the sister not like you but find out that the mom doesn't like you last call john what's up

02:59:51 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? Hey, listen, I was listening to that conversation, and if you go back in the middle of his conversation, he said something very faintly.

03:00:00 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 2:

but you can definitely hear him. He goes, it's not like we're going to have sex or anything. She goes, yeah, I know, but I don't know if I can get the time off. And then she was kind of hesitant. So I think he is. All right, I got to listen to the podcast.

03:00:11 - 03:00:30 | Speaker 4:

Now you make me want to listen to the podcast. He said that? It's not like we have had sex or anything? Yep, sure did. All right, here's the deal, John. John, you just made me now want to download this Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses because I didn't hear that.

03:00:30 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 3:

Neither did I. How did none of us catch it if it happened? John, do you work for

03:00:34 - 03:00:47 | Speaker 4:

iHeart Podcasting and you want to blow this one up? You want to get us a $500,000 download in one day? No, I'm a PI, licensed PI in the state of Michigan. Oh, look at him. You got a trench coat?

03:00:48 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 3:

I want to do a topic with just PIs.

03:00:50 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 4:

Matter of fact, he's got a trench coat, I think. You got a trench coat? Actually, this is a great test. Have them say... Answer the question. Go ahead. I'm sorry.

03:00:57 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 1:

Have them say what they heard, and then we'll judge whether or not you're a good P.I. about it or not.

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 2:

I love it.

03:01:03 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 4:

I like this guy.

03:01:04 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 2:

I listen to you guys every morning, and I'm pretty good at what I hear.

03:01:06 - 03:01:08 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, John. I appreciate you.

03:01:09 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 2:

You're very welcome, you guys.

03:01:10 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 4:

John, the P.I. just made it that you better listen to that podcast. Zach, is that podcast up? Let's get that damn podcast up.

03:01:17 - 03:01:22 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now. Pay Your Bills is on.

03:01:22 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to do Pay Your Bills. Uh, the word for this hour, there you go, pay your bills, uh, the word for this hour is bank, B-A-N-K, I'm trying to think of a word we haven't used in a while, bank, B-A-N-K, win a thousand dollars, mojo in the morning, you can't do that, Kevin, hold on a second, and we're going to see if the listeners think that what Kevin did was wrong. So you're on the phone with Melinda?

03:02:00 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 5:

Yes, my sister. What up, Lynn? Linda LeBeau.

03:02:03 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 4:

So you're on the phone with your sister, and while you're on the phone with your sister, you're sitting on, as my aunt used to call it, the toilet.

03:02:11 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 5:

The toilet, yeah. I'm taking a dump, a fire one, too. Okay, you don't have to get descriptive. After I eat salad, it's going on. That doesn't happen. FaceTime, yeah. You're on FaceTime on the toilet. But look, that's not why she's mad, though, because Lynn knows that this is how I get down. Everybody knows how I get down. My grandma even knows how I get down.

03:02:30 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you're no different than that War of the Roses where the guy's FaceTiming his sister.

03:02:35 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 5:

You're FaceTiming Doody-ing. And I'm not sleeping with her. Okay. So I'm FaceTiming her. Why did you just spill something? Did you just spill something?

03:02:43 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 1:

I think I got it all over my...

03:02:44 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 4:

I got dogs.

03:02:45 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 1:

That's the reason why we're not allowed to have liquids in the studio.

03:02:48 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 5:

So I'm on the toilet, the turlet, like your aunt says, and FaceTime with Melinda. And again, she knows this is where I'm at. She can tell by, you know, the background and the position of the phone. She's not mad at that. She gets mad when I reach over with my right hand on my little counter by the sink, and I bring over a tall glass of ice cold cranberry juice mixed with my favorite vodka. No. And she's like, are you drinking right now? I'm like, yeah. She's like, on the toilet? I'm like, yeah. She's like, that is disgusting. Do you know about the poop particles? And she started Googling. That's Kat, bro. I can drink while I'm taking a doo-doo?

03:03:28 - 03:03:33 | Speaker 2:

No. It's so gross. First of all, were you on the toilet when she called?

03:03:34 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no. I think I was in the kitchen, and I was like, you know, by the time we got to that point, I had to boo-boo.

03:03:39 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 1:

The fact that you didn't even turn the camera off is so freaking rude.

03:03:44 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 5:

Why would I stop the conversation?

03:03:46 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Because you don't have to.

03:03:48 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 3:

you can just turn the camera off no no yeah i'd answer my facetime if you if you facetimed me and i was pooping you would actually first there are so many issues i have with this topic should we start from the top stop pooping on facetime very few people would i do that for you thank thank you thank you i love you joe and kev i wouldn't do it for that's different with with boys i love you don't ever pick up my dad answered a facetime for me the other day i go dad are you in the the bathroom and i go he goes yeah i go are you pooping and he's like yeah i thought it was an emergency i actually took a screenshot it was so funny stop picking up stop going to the bathroom

03:04:24 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 2:

on facetime stop doing it turn the camera off second ball stop eating in the bathroom that's so disgusting what is wrong with that poop is in that room everywhere so kev i have done it many

03:04:35 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 3:

many times as well so i i would be a hypocrite if i said ew but when i i i have i have tried to not do it anymore because i feel like it is kind of nasty but i mean like where is this but i've done

03:04:45 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 5:

it many times i'm not like doodling and then getting off the toilet and letting the fumes spill out but they do even if i if i'm sitting on the toilet like actively do it the more i think

03:04:56 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 3:

about it as that as i just said that i when i'm getting

03:05:00 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 5:

Getting ready in the morning before I come in here, the first thing I do, I get up, I let the dogs out downstairs, I make a coffee, and I bring the coffee back upstairs into the bathroom with me to have when I'm getting ready. So what's the difference?

03:05:10 - 03:05:16 | Speaker 1:

That's gross, too. When you flush that toilet, it just flings your poop everywhere.

03:05:16 - 03:05:18 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Shut the toilet seat before you flush.

03:05:18 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 1:

It still gets places. How? It's not like... If the toilet seat is closed. What is it called? Hermetically sealed? It's not like sealed off completely. There are poop particles getting out. Guess what? There are poop particles in this studio right now. I know there are and grosses me out, but like that, it's got to be more highly concentrated in the poop place.

03:05:35 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 4:

I think we have to pull this together because there's two things that he did wrong. Number one is he FaceTimes with his sister and has to pull his pants down when his sister's on the phone. She doesn't see that. And number two, and he's on the toilet doing it. Number two is him drinking on the toilet. So I think both of those are things to discuss here right now.

03:05:55 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 3:

You think I'm wrong for drinking while I'm doodling?

03:05:57 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 4:

I think that you, first off, I don't understand why you're putting stuff in while you're pushing stuff out. Like, why can't you just get them both done? I thought you would be on my side. Listen, I one time had, got called out for eating when I was on, like finishing eating, and they said that's a sign of being a fat guy. I've done that too. Maybe you're now. Maybe this is you. I'm not judging, but what's the size waist right now? What do I say?

03:06:21 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 3:

About 36.

03:06:22 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 4:

Is it really? Okay. Yeah, for sure. Rachel, what's going on? How you doing?

03:06:26 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

03:06:27 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 4:

Rachel, what do you think of this?

03:06:30 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 1:

I texted in. I'm like, so Kevin will do all these things in the bathroom, but he still won't eat from Megan's house?

03:06:38 - 03:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I've tried.

03:06:39 - 03:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she brought in cookies today, too. I'm trying to.

03:06:42 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I've tried to taste Megan cookies. She's like, she's so mad for some reason that she won't allow me to anymore.

03:06:48 - 03:06:55 | Speaker 1:

For some reason, like you didn't on multiple occasions say, you're dirty, I'm not going to eat from your kitchen.

03:06:55 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 3:

I never said you were dirty.

03:06:56 - 03:07:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you did. You said, I don't eat from people's kitchens because they're dirty. And then you said, when I brought up cookies multiple times, no thanks.

03:07:04 - 03:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Rachel, for reminding us of that. That is true, by the way. You got to be more softer, Megan. No, I don't. What's up, Anthony? What do you think?

03:07:14 - 03:07:16 | Speaker 2:

F them cookies, Ed.

03:07:16 - 03:07:17 | Speaker 4:

You're on with Kevin here. What's up?

03:07:18 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Kevin. No, no, no. All up, all up. But I wanted to say, I'm pretty sure you were on the toilet when that phone call came through because you were pretty quick from yes to no there. But at the same time, the same time, the same time, like in the bathroom with the drink is different than taking a number, you know, taking a number two drinking. Like, that's that's crazy, dude. Like, that's crazy. Bruh.

03:07:40 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 3:

So if I'm sitting on it. So, look, I'm in the kitchen. I don't know. I probably was air frying some chicken breast that I just seasoned to perfection. I pour me a little drink because I'm vibing. Me and my sister, we talked on the phone for hours. In two hours span, I might have to boo boo. So I take my drink. I go upstairs, I sit on the toilet, spread the legs, do my little one-twos and threes, and I get thirsty. I take a sip. What's wrong with that?

03:08:04 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 4:

He's hydrating himself. You know what he needs, by the way, Anthony? He needs that kid that's on the sideline or that person that's on the sideline that hands the Gatorade bottle to the player.

03:08:12 - 03:08:13 | Speaker 2:

He squirts it in their mouth.

03:08:13 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 4:

Coming out during timeout.

03:08:16 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 2:

You guys are fooled.

03:08:18 - 03:08:19 | Speaker 4:

No, that's funny. Squirt it right in the mouth.

03:08:19 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I love that. I love that. Hey, this is my first time calling you guys. Hey, buddy. He's like, oh, no, no. Anthony. I don't know if you guys remember, though. Real quick, real quick. My mom called you one time. I was in college. You guys woke me up, and she wanted to know what that Drake song, like what that phrase was. And Shannon told her on the sax. I was like, what are you guys talking about? I forgot the phrase. I forgot the word now. I don't know if you guys remember that. Her name is Lisa.

03:08:48 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, hello to your mother. Tell your mom that we say hello to her, okay? Appreciate that you're listening to the show. what's up jason how you doing pretty good how are you good what's up hey uh hey megan um you're

03:09:01 - 03:09:07 | Speaker 2:

mad at him about drinking on the toilet where do you keep your toothbrush at so i'm very this is

03:09:07 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 1:

funny all puns intended anal about this uh when i brush my teeth i grab it out of a cabinet so it's like inside of a cabinet that closes uh to try to protect it as much as possible because it's so

03:09:21 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 4:

gross to me. How about everybody else on the show that's saying it's nasty? Mine's on the counter, Todd.

03:09:27 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 3:

And what about y'all washcloths?

03:09:30 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have a washcloth

03:09:31 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 3:

that's hanging from a towel thing. Every morning, you go in a closet and get a

03:09:35 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 5:

washcloth? I don't use a washcloth every time I shower. I have a loofah. I have a bar soap.

03:09:41 - 03:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Jason and Kevin.

03:09:42 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 2:

It sounds like you're all a little bit nasty.

03:09:44 - 03:09:53 | Speaker 4:

Jason and Kevin, there's a difference between having a toothbrush that is right there and sitting there and blatantly eating and drinking on the thing.

03:09:53 - 03:09:54 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Y'all are crazy.

03:09:55 - 03:09:56 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that's craziness.

03:09:56 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I can't sit while I'm on the toilet. How long do these doodles be?

03:10:00 - 03:10:02 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I don't push.

03:10:02 - 03:10:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, wait, hold on. Listen to this.

03:10:04 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 5:

It's a suction.

03:10:05 - 03:10:06 | Speaker 3:

Jody.

03:10:06 - 03:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Your blood pool's in your butt.

03:10:07 - 03:10:08 | Speaker 3:

Jody, are you there?

03:10:08 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 5:

We got to discuss this. Good morning. First time, long time.

03:10:11 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Jody's okay.

03:10:14 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 3:

Jody wants to call out her sister.

03:10:15 - 03:10:18 | Speaker 6:

I have been a listener since.

03:10:19 - 03:10:20 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. We're talking about happening.

03:10:20 - 03:10:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay, if you've been a listener that long, you know you can't say that word.

03:10:24 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 3:

You can't swear. But real quick, that's wonderful that you've been listening for as long as you've been listening. We appreciate it.

03:10:31 - 03:10:31 | Unknown:

I met poop.

03:10:31 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 3:

Now, thank you.

03:10:32 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 6:

I met poop.

03:10:33 - 03:10:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's, okay. All right, so call out your sister.

03:10:37 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 6:

Okay, my sister will call me, and she will have her laptop tray, like a tray tray with her food from dinner and her laptop.

03:10:55 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 3:

And what is she doing? What's her laptop tray there for? she's working she's got her oh wait oh she's got her food from dinner on the laptop tray while she's sitting on the toilet eating yeah it's like a food tray oh my god she's got a she's got a tv tray or whatever sitting there yes yes like a like what kind of food are we talking about like what's

03:11:14 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 6:

she eating like uh like dinner dinner oh my god whatever it doesn't matter that now i'm like now

03:11:21 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 3:

that's wrong that's blatantly wrong you'll admit to right everywhere what you'll admit that you You shouldn't be eating a full dinner on the toilet. Listen, man.

03:11:27 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, but she's got to go, and she's got things to do.

03:11:31 - 03:11:34 | Speaker 3:

What's your sister's first name, and what city is she from?

03:11:37 - 03:11:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, they both do it, and I am not calling them out because they will kill you.

03:11:41 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 3:

They'll kill you. Exactly. I get it. All right. What's up, Jennifer? How you doing?

03:11:48 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 7:

Hey. Good morning, guys. Good morning. What's going on? so uh we were in middle school at the time but we had just got home from school and my brother ran to the bathroom to take a dump and he while he was in there he was like jen jen and i thought he needed like toilet paper or something but he was like can you hand me the Snickers, that's on the kitchen table. And I handed it to him, and he ate it while he was taking a dump.

03:12:21 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that crazy, though, that you and your brother and then Kev and his sister, like, have your pants down around ankles, and you guys are so easy to be around your siblings. I don't do this in front of my... What do you mean? My sisters have never seen me with my pants down.

03:12:38 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't see below the face. It's so weird. The face is still the only thing to show.

03:12:43 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 5:

To see your face while knowing that poop is coming out of you is so weird to me. You're holding it in while you're actually on the phone, right?

03:12:50 - 03:12:53 | Speaker 2:

Hell no. And I want you to know. And I let it flush. You can hear it in everything.

03:12:53 - 03:12:59 | Speaker 5:

The one time I was on the phone with my brother on FaceTime, he went to the bathroom. I hung up. Call me back when you're done.

03:12:59 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 3:

Nope. DJ. You there, DJ? You don't get up.

03:13:02 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm here. What up, guys?

03:13:04 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, DJ? DJ, what do you eat on the toilet?

03:13:06 - 03:13:32 | Speaker 1:

so in the morning if i'm like running late if i hit the snooze button too many times or whatever you know now i'm you know short on time i'll have my breakfast or whatever you know while i'm having my morning ritual oh my god it's usually it's usually only like a bowl of cereal or something or like i don't know like a breakfast sandwich or something can i ask you a question i'll make sure it's gone before I flushed, too.

03:13:32 - 03:13:34 | Speaker 5:

Would you eat in a port-a-potty?

03:13:35 - 03:13:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's other people's poop, though. That's a whole different. That's a whole different.

03:13:41 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 7:

That's not different at all. It's still poop in a bowl, guys.

03:13:45 - 03:13:50 | Speaker 1:

I won't even poop in a port-a-potty. I hate touching port-a-potties. And I need to say this, please.

03:13:50 - 03:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, when's the last time you cleaned your toilet, though? I guarantee you, you haven't cleaned your toilet.

03:13:56 - 03:14:00 | Speaker 1:

I cleaned my toilet two days ago. Every Sunday, I clean up my place. You're so full of it.

03:14:00 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 5:

But on Friday, when you're eating on the toilet, it's been five days.

03:14:04 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:14:06 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 3:

You got it. You got it. You got it. All right.

03:14:12 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 5:
