W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X Muskegon Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S Toledo, this is Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:08 - 00:01:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:01:10 - 00:01:25 | Speaker 5:

Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

00:01:26 - 00:01:26 | Speaker 4:

This is it.

00:01:26 - 00:01:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you ready?

00:01:28 - 00:01:30 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:30 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:01:35 - 00:02:13 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:02:13 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, and welcome to the Mojo on the Morning Show. It is very, very slippery in some of our listening areas today as this ice storm winter weather advisory has kind of swept across. Definitely affected the Detroit area, and I know that Toledo is also affected by this too. now is going to the east coast but uh it was weird i always thought it was like below freezing why would it not just be snow but it was like a layer of like rain ice mix and it wasn't like a ton of it but it was enough that just coated your windshield enough that if you don't have an ice scraper you're using a debit card this morning i would break a debit card it's pretty thick i um

00:03:04 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 2:

i let my dogs out this morning and i knew we were getting this ice storm i just didn't know if it had hit or not so i like opened my back door to let them out you guys they didn't realize it was ice and they go running out oh no it was like a scene from a cartoon like legs spread

00:03:21 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 3:

wow uh well careful be careful because you know uh you might break a hip or something out there it's nuts it's it's a really bad uh driving on side streets is bad but the worst is parking lots And I know there's a lot of guys that are, the plow guys are salt in the parking lots. They're doing as best of a job as they can. But our parking lot here at the radio station.

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:03:45 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

You know what I knew it was bad? When the corned beef guys across the street were coming to work and they were like walking to work like they looked like they were drunk walking out of a club.

00:03:53 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 2:

I never wear heels and I'm wearing heels today. Worst day to wear heels. It took me 10 minutes to walk from my apartment front door to my parking garage.

00:04:01 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 4:

Not my car. The door of my parking garage.

00:04:04 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's bad. So be careful. We have this until about 9 o'clock this morning, and then it's going to warm up enough to probably melt some of this off. So a lot of schools closed in the Detroit area. I know the Detroit public schools are closed for sure, so you can go check school closing lists and get caught up on that. War of the Roses this morning. She suspects that he's cheating. He's suspicious with his phone, and she even saw that there was a girl texting him asking for money. What is that all about? War of the Roses coming up at 7 o'clock this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. You must listen for that and good prizes too. Tickets to go see Super Bowl performing Kendrick Lamar and SZA. They'll be performing Sunday in New Orleans at the Superdome. We've got tickets to see them when they come to Ford Field in Detroit. And we also have Tate McCray sold out tickets.

00:05:00 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 5:

Katy Perry tickets, and then that trip to Florida where there's no ice on the ground today. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Kev went to work to both works yesterday, and I could tell that you were a little under the weather, but you have something that you want to bring up right now on the air. You wanted to ask a question of the listener.

00:05:20 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I want to ask y'all a question, too. If a person isn't feeling well, and we can generalize it or we can specify it by bringing it closer to home, which is I, the one who's speaking right now. If I'm sick, should I not go to work? Okay.

00:05:33 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

But what kind of sick? Yes.

00:05:35 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, it's hard to determine because I didn't go to the doctor and get, like, diagnosed with something specifically. No, I mean, like, symptoms. Well, okay, symptoms. If I have a, say, like, a runny nose or if my throat is hurting. But who knows what that could be. That could be strep throat, which is contagious. That could just be, you know, a sore throat because I talk a lot. I don't know what it is. You know what I mean? So I would hate to, like, diagnose myself and then not be the right thing. But if my head is hurting, my energy is low, there's a cough here and there, my throat, like, I'm sick. You know what I mean? But I can still perform my duties. So I feel like I can go to work because I can do what I'm paid to do. And we've talked about it before. My favorite Charles Barkley quote, the best ability is availability. So if you can show up, then you're winning.

00:06:23 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 5:

What's the reasoning of why you're bringing this up right now?

00:06:25 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I had the Pistons game last night, and typically I'm a high-energy guy. And even when I'm sick, I say my energy is maybe higher than others. But if I'm sick and I have a job like that where I'm on camera and I've got to do things and I've got to bring the energy, then I'm going to save my energy for those moments. So I'm sitting down, I'm to myself, and someone comes over, and typically there's a big greeting. Hey, what's up? You know, all the vibes, but I'm not doing that. They're like, are you okay? And I'm like, no, I'm not feeling well. She's like, you're not feeling well? why are you here you should be at home if are you sick like on some hypochondriac types you know

00:06:59 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 5:

what i mean so i'm like i'm here it's interesting because you described a couple of things you described that you were not feeling good you had some symptoms of like you know uh i don't know cloudiness and you know sore throat stuff but then you described that you did your job and you did it you know good enough where nobody noticed when you're on the mic yeah but they notice when you're off the mic which i've had that before where i'm like the listeners can't tell but i think that

00:07:24 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

people can tell in the studio that was me all of last week i did not feel well and i think that

00:07:30 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 5:

me personally and i know covid changed a lot of people's minds on sickness i think me personally i say okay if you did if you said i'm gonna stay home sick for every time you felt like that you'd never be at work exactly and i and to me being sick is it's coming out of one end both ends or i'm gonna get somebody else sick yes and i personally i don't know because i i you could get me sick right you could uh with uh whatever you got yeah but it is i don't know i i'm a bad guy to ask because i'm a guy that i'm like what charles says i uh i try to uh try to do my job

00:08:07 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

i push through unless like like if i'm barfing obviously i'm not going to be here or there have been times when i like i am so achy and just feel so crappy that i'm like i don't think i'm gonna make it through a show at this point and then i would stay home but like if if i stayed home anytime my throat hurt or i had a runny nose or something i'd probably be here two out of the five days of the week you know what i mean and and the same thing with the kids like it's so hard to monitor even last week like i had said i think i kept telling lydia i just feel funny like i don't feel like myself i feel super nauseous but i haven't thrown up so i'm okay but then the kids were kind of feeling that way too and i'm like okay so we go to school until we throw up because it's like which teachers don't like i'm sure but it's like i'm i'm not gonna keep them home from school when they have a tummy ache and that's what it was like that would be every dang day

00:08:59 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

but i think there's a difference between feeling crummy and being sick because my brother had pneumonia a couple of weeks ago and he was trying to go into the office and i was like No, you cannot do that.

00:09:11 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 5:

But did he think he had pneumonia or know he had pneumonia?

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 3:

No, he went to the hospital.

00:09:15 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 5:

He had pneumonia. Okay, yeah, because I was going to say, if he didn't know he had pneumonia, then okay, then it's kind of like this situation. But if you knew he had pneumonia, you should definitely not go. But then again, you don't know you have pneumonia until you go to the hospital. Phil, what's up? Would you want to make a comment on this?

00:09:29 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

So within the last decade or half decade, I have just sent an email that says I am taking the day off. You don't need to know why, and that's it. That's how simple it can be.

00:09:41 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 5:

Okay. How do you get away with that?

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

But that's not the question.

00:09:44 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 5:

But does that answer the question of should you go to work? I don't know where you're – are you trying to justify the fact that you do that by calling us up this morning? Or are you –

00:09:52 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

It's the thing that people – if you're taking a day off, you're taking a day off. Yeah. Whether you're sick, whether you have a personal issue, you're taking a day off.

00:09:59 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

But this isn't about that. Kev is the kind of guy that likes to fight through things. He's like Michael Jordan. Did you ever hear about the flu game or whatever when he played? He's the guy that wants to play and be there. Is he wrong for coming to work and not feeling great? You're just saying that you like to just take days off randomly. By the way, what company do you work for, and where's your boss at right now?

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 3:

I worked in Russia.

00:10:27 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 2:

I love it. smart uh well you guys have a good one thanks buddy i appreciate it he just wanted to call up and say that um which by the way i i do say this to you that you know the businesses will never question your will never question your days but they also if you take a sick day and you there's there's kind of a protocol i didn't realize this but there's a protocol to sick days if you look at the the the manuals and all that stuff and to them that's a personal day so you can't take that as if you say i'm taking a day just because i want that's my sick day no that's that's called a personal day and then vacation days are if you pre-plan your whatever day that you're doing so they have that in in you know hr stuff but i will i will go on record kev to say to you that yesterday i thought that you seemed worse than you were but you pulled through but you're a good guy at kind of faking through things like you're a good guy at kind of like not letting you know you are a guy that shows up and does your thing and all that stuff I feel like we all are like yeah we show up you gotta show up that's the thing that kind of pisses me off sometimes when I look in the building here and nobody else is here and I look over here and I go where's the rest of our team like you know what I mean like I get we're the morning show and people kind of look to us to do this

00:11:49 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

but it doesn't feel like a team when there's no team to be seen.

00:11:54 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 2:

And to me, like you see this with working with the Pistons. If the kid at the end of the bench that hands the towel to you when you come off during a timeout doesn't show up for the game, those million-dollar guys got to go get their own towels. I'm just kidding. No, I know. I'm just kidding. Hold on. Who's this on line one, Lydia? Am I picking up?

00:12:16 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 4:

She hung out.

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she hung out. What did she say? What was her comment?

00:12:19 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 4:

She said that she thinks even if you're sick, you should go to work.

00:12:21 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? That's the opposite of what I thought it would be. To me, I would have thought that if somebody, that we would get a lot of people that would say, Kev should not be here right now. He shouldn't have been at the Pistons game yesterday. He should not have been on the show yesterday.

00:12:35 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 1:

Here's my reasoning on it, though. I would rather have, not you, but just because you brought this up, Kev out, than have all of us be out.

00:12:44 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if he's contagious. Yeah. Right. But I also will say this. the show definitely does suffer without all of us here. So there is, but in, I would rather.

00:12:57 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 1:

It's a line that you dance.

00:12:58 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I would rather it be one day than five days and spread across the thing. But this is where we put Kevin now in the producer studio and pull Lydia in here. Do you remember the quarantine days when you had to like, when you had COVID, when COVID first came out and you remember you had to stay in your room and your parents would like duct tape the bottoms of the floors and all that stuff uh fisher what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

00:13:23 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:

how are you guys doing this morning good what's going on so my kind of thing is is like so my dad like he was always in the trades as i was growing up so he kind of told me like unless you're dying you got to go to work yeah but so i try to just always go to work unless like unless i just can't get out of bed or like try to have like the people at work send me home like if they see that i'm obviously not up to my normal standards. And then usually I feel like people kind of take care of each other and they're like, hey, you don't really look all too hot. You should probably head home. And then it's not on you for calling it. Yeah.

00:14:02 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm guessing having a dad that worked in the trades, you didn't get away with staying home sick from school a lot too.

00:14:08 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, not really. Usually it would have to be the school would have to send me home.

00:14:13 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I could see that, you know, dad, blue-collar guy. He's like, get your ass out there. What's up, Caitlin?

00:14:20 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you? Good morning. Good morning.

00:14:22 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:14:24 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

So I think that, you know, you should be able to, you should go to work if you have, you know, just a cold or whatever. I am an assistant general manager, and I deal with many of my employees just calling off because they got as little as a toothache. And it's just constant every day. It's somebody calling off because they're sick or something little. um i go to work when i'm sick all the time i shouldn't um but i was just recently sick and i still showed up to work and i left early because i couldn't stop throwing up but i it's like i save

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 1:

My sick days for my child.

00:15:02 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 3:

For when they're sick. That's a mom. By the way, you bring up a really interesting point that you've got to cover for all the people that are sick a lot of times that you have to now change your feelings towards it. Because otherwise, who's going to be there if nobody else is there because they're stubbing toes?

00:15:16 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 1:

Now, I fully understand that, right? Like, I have been in that situation where I have to take on other responsibilities because of that. But that's not that person's fault. I also think we have a weird atmosphere as Americans where we prioritize work too much in a way. I think a lot of people have an unhealthy relationship with work. If you're sick, stay home and get better. It's not your fault that my company or whatever it is doesn't have enough people to cover.

00:15:44 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 3:

My sister is a manager of one, and I won't say the grocery store chain, but one of the grocery store chain's bakeries. and she says the lat with the last caller says she kind of echoes that where people will literally just call her five or ten minutes before their shift and be like yeah i'm not coming in and she's like she's never she literally has planned vacations and has never taken a vacation ever because she's got to go in and cover for people all the time and they feel like when she they know she's on vacation they can get away with even more raven what's up you're you're working a plant i i can only imagine what that's like if people have to call in sick um i actually um i

00:16:21 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 5:

don't know if i'll get in trouble for this but i actually work at visaprint as a cleaner yeah um and last week like half our entire plant was sick yeah and i was like no it's fine i'll be fine like i never get sick i ended up sick and i just stay home for like the rest of the week because i was like i'm not getting anybody else sick if i'm cleaning all of the bathrooms and the

00:16:42 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 3:

cafeteria is like why would i go in sick i can only imagine yeah you got it from those yeah so Well, you say stay home if you're sick.

00:16:50 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely stay home.

00:16:51 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's interesting. What happens on a plant? Do they shut a plant down if they don't have enough workers?

00:16:57 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 5:

They just kind of, like, work at, like, a reduced pace or, like, reduced production.

00:17:01 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, interesting. Victoria works in an ER, and this is an interesting comment. What's that, Victoria?

00:17:08 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 6:

Hi, first time, long time.

00:17:10 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, Kevin's not feeling well. Victoria on the phone.

00:17:15 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 6:

what's going on victoria hi guys so i work in an er i'm not gonna say which one but basically we're having like an unprecedented amount of people come in with flu a covid rsv norovirus walking pneumonia so i would say like i'm a fighter too like i'm gonna push through it because i need to show up for my patients but if it's lasting for more than three days i would definitely go get seen and get checked out just in case because the flu is so bad right now it's lasting for weeks and people are just really suffering so i would just like be mindful but like i get it because like i will keep i'm the worst patient when i'm taking care of my that's

00:17:53 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 3:

what they say and i get it so yeah okay so if it's lasting more than a day or two that's when you got three three days go to the doctor and go get seen this is day two and and that's the thing by the way the problem is doctors don't have appointments so we got to be able to figure out how that can change all right it's mojo in the morning how smart are you it's mojo in the

00:18:13 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 4:

mornings back in the day we have to go back and change where we give you a bunch of events and

00:18:17 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations. Katie, Katie, we're setting you up with a prize. We're going to give you tickets to go to Monster Jam, Monster Jam at Ford Field on February the 24th. I got to shout out, Lee and everybody over at Monster Jam had a really good family, a nice family, reach out and said that they wanted some Monster Jam stuff. And they wanted to know if Monster Jam does a meet and greet. So Jamie over at Monster Jam did such a nice job of helping out Mojo in the Morning listeners with that. You've been. I've been to not a Monster Jam, but I've been to a version of that. Like, they're one of their type. The Monster Jam, though, is the deal.

00:21:34 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 2:

It's so much fun.

00:21:35 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Just seeing the big old trucks and stuff. Yes. How do they get them here to town? Are they all on big trucks? I think so. Are they? I think so. Have the best time. It's like a kid's dream, but adult kids, too, enjoying it. So enjoy it, Katie.

00:21:47 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, guys. I'm so excited.

00:21:49 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 5:

00:22:21 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:22:25 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, which Kanye song first comes to your mind? I'll put it on here right now. I Wonder. I Wonder. I wonder if I have it.

00:22:32 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm not starting with a Kanye story. So you can look for it.

00:22:34 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 5:

We'll start with something else. I'm going to find it.

00:22:36 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 4:

I got it. If not, all falls down and works too.

00:22:38 - 00:22:38 | Unknown:

Go ahead.

00:22:39 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 1:

So Giselle Bündchen has welcomed her first child with her jujitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquin Valente. It is her third child. She does share a daughter and a son with her ex-husband, Tom Brady. But Giselle has been dating Joaquin since like 2023. But they've known each other for years and years and years because he was her kids' jiu-jitsu instructor. I still have such a hard time saying that. By the way, that seems quick. No name, no sex released yet in terms of the new little one for them.

00:23:08 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 5:

I didn't realize that it's been a... Has she been fully divorced two years or they separated two years ago?

00:23:14 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 1:

They filed for divorce in October of 2022. So it's been over two years since they've been divorced. Interesting.

00:23:20 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 2:

It still does feel quick.

00:23:22 - 00:23:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:23:23 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 4:

They were probably done when he decided to go play for the Buccaneers that year.

00:23:27 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like, we don't know when it was really, we know when the filing happened, but the marriage could have technically been over. Before then, a source close to Brady said he's happy for Giselle, and of course, he did reach out privately to Wish. Congratulations. Kanye West, now you can play that, revealed on the Download podcast that his wife, Bianca Jason Sori was the one who helped him realize he's actually not bipolar. Rather, he is on the autism spectrum. And he said she was the one who helped connect him with this doctor.

00:24:00 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 6:

I went to this doctor, one that worked with Justin Bieber, one that worked with, I'm not even going to name other names and stuff. My wife took me to do that because she said something about your personality doesn't feel like it's bipolar. I've seen bipolar before I've seen, she's educated So I've seen bipolar before And come to find out it's really a case of autism That I have And autism takes you to a Wayne Man thing Where you're like, oh man, I'm gonna wear this Trump hat Because it's like Trump in general And then when people tell you to not do it You just get on that one point And that's my problem When fans tell me to do my album a certain way I'll do it the opposite way just because la la la la i got my money right you can't tell me he actually said this has helped

00:24:53 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

so much um just put some of his own behavior into perspective and be able to put it in a

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 5:

category and in research and understand because of this autism diagnosis it's just really helped

00:25:05 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 2:

him one of the other things that he said in that interview was because he he made an album called yay and he talks about him being bipolar and he owns it and one of the things that he said in his interview because people like well you said you were bipolar yourself so what do you mean people called you that he believed what the doctors told him he said so often we listen to our doctors and we believe everything that they tell us and sometimes I wonder how many times doctors just

00:25:30 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 5:

threw labels on kids you know so this is a big thing with ADD ADHD as well where a lot of kids are getting labeled as having ADHD and really they're on the spectrum um it's just the doctors need to do a little bit more digging well I also instead of just like throwing some meds their way

00:25:49 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 3:

there was a lot of kids that were honestly just bored too I think that I hate to say it but I I think I was one of those kids that I didn't I wasn't a kid that liked school, you know what I mean? And I I want I should have been going to something else other than the traditional school.

00:26:02 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I also feel bad because those classrooms are just so large. But how can you manage to do that with 30 plus kids in a room?

00:26:10 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, President Trump signed an executive action yesterday. That's getting a lot to talk. This one intending to prohibit transgender athletes from participating in women's sports.

00:26:23 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

With this executive order, the war on women's sports is over.

00:26:28 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 5:

At that signing ceremony yesterday, the president also said he was banning transgender athletes from competing in the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.

00:26:36 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 3:

And the colleges say that they're going to follow it in the Olympics, I believe, has said that they're going to follow it, too. Yeah, that's what you said. Yeah. Did you say that? I know you said that in the Olympics, they're doing it for the Olympics, but they said they're going to follow it, which is interesting.

00:26:48 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 4:

But the Olympics already had their own rules on that anyways.

00:26:50 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, not really, because there was that boxer that everybody was questioning.

00:26:54 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 4:

But she was not transgender.

00:26:55 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 3:

I understand, but people were questioning it.

00:26:57 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 4:

Right, and they followed the rules because she wasn't transgender.

00:27:00 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 3:

And it was disproven that she was not transgendered? Yes. Interesting, because I watched the news yesterday, and I saw one of the news reports was talking about using that as one of the examples, too.

00:27:12 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 4:

She's intersex.

00:27:13 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:27:14 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 5:

For all of today's dirty, check out the podcast.

00:27:15 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 3:

What is intersex? I don't even know what intersex is.

00:27:17 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 4:

She was born, like, with both sex. Both parts? Okay.

00:27:21 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 3:

All right, check out the... Okay.

00:27:24 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. She got...

00:27:25 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 2:

She got coochie and a dick? Okay.

00:27:28 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 4:

No, that's why I said features instead of genitalia. She had, I believe, testes and she had ovaries. She didn't have a penis and a vagina.

00:27:39 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, you just throwing out coochie really threw me off. I'm just glad we could say that. I'm going to point everybody to the podcast on the iSAR radio app or mojointhemorning.com.

00:27:46 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 3:

I should have never interrupted you.

00:27:49 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity dirt. Directly from the source. I thought you weren't feeling well. It's Mojo in the morning. It's dirty on the 30s. You're still me.

00:27:57 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Yeah, we're going to get to the War of the Roses coming up here in just a little bit. Get ready for that. Roads are treacherous in most of our listening areas of Detroit and Toledo. So you've got some bad stuff going on with some slippery spots. So be careful with that. uh grand rapids uh dealing obviously with just weather i feel like grand rapids you know it's like this is like hey in grand rapids a bad weather day is like yeah that's tuesday whatever you know what i mean we got the lakes out here we got we got to deal with all that stuff um thank you for listening to us today wherever you are and if you're listening around the the world on the iheart radio app if you're listening anywhere and we got some listeners that check us out sometimes in uh pittsburgh i believe it is uh some of the pennsylvania areas this stuff is coming towards you and i was like i for some reason i was really worried about this icing like i'd rather have it be like eight inches of snow yeah same then have like a coating of ice dangerous because for some reason you ain't supposed to drive on ice that's not supposed to happen so uh anybody bite it out in front of the uh the building yet that we know you should see we should pull the

00:29:05 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 5:

security footage of how i walked in i scooted and this morning yes zach was my hero he like

00:29:12 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 4:

walked me and he practically carried me in and then ran back and got kp too did you know who

00:29:17 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 3:

was not a hero today kevin i'm never a hero when it comes to this go ahead so no so i went out there to help lydia because she came in right around the time i was coming in kev came in at the same time he walked right past both of us it was you know what it felt like it felt like the starting lineups were just announced, and he was looking for us just to hand him a hand as he went out on the court. Hey, Lydia. His name was announced.

00:29:38 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, is that true? Did I walk past

00:29:40 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 6:

you guys? No, Kevin. You held the door for me, and you carried Mojo's

00:29:44 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 3:

coffee in. Wait a second. He did?

00:29:46 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 6:

He did, yeah. He walked me in, and he took a lot of stuff out of my hands. So you tried to take credit for another man? No, Mojo also took my bag. Accusations! They did half and half for me. I was running a little behind on show

00:29:58 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

schedule. Okay. Alright.

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 1:

You guys both did your due diligence.

00:30:01 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 4:

See, I have issues. This is my issue. My issue is I don't want to see anybody falling and hurting themselves because we now have a new security guard up front, and I'm convinced that if we fell and we're dead out in front, she wouldn't even notice us.

00:30:15 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 5:

You don't think so? The girl in the morning. No, she watches TikTok the entire time. Don't do that. She does. I love her. Well, there's two different ones. And the one literally just watches TikTok the entire time. I gotta be honest.

00:30:27 - 00:30:28 | Unknown:

Good for her.

00:30:28 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 4:

I say hi to her every single morning, and I don't think she said hi one time back.

00:30:31 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:30:32 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 4:

No, not at all. She has not said hi to you either, because I guarantee you she does not say hi. No, she has.

00:30:36 - 00:30:40 | Speaker 3:

She said hi to me. We talk about her nails. We talk about hair. We talk about outfits.

00:30:40 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 4:

The reason why I know for a fact that she's not much of a talker is because I actually was asking the super hot, hunky security guard, Majeeb, is that his name?

00:30:53 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 5:

Majeeb, the love of my life.

00:30:55 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 4:

Majeeb.

00:30:56 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Megan, can we please hook you guys up?

00:30:57 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 4:

I said to Majeeb, I go, Majeeb, the girl that's here before, does she just not like us, or what's the story? And he goes, oh, don't worry. She doesn't talk to me either, but I don't know. So I don't know. What happened to the last lady that was there? I used to love that last lady. Yeah. The last lady that was there, she would ask me, like, my family history, everything. It was, like, crazy. It was awesome. It's a tough shift. I don't know. I guess working the overnights does get kind of rough. But that's the thing, though. It's like in this building that we have, too, that front slope to walk up here, You have to, like, walk up this, like, slope. It was like walking up, I don't know, Pine Knob in the ski slope. Like, I felt like I was on Mount Holly. Yes. Like, walking up the ski slope there. And you know, if somebody's walking out that building, boom, they're going to knock right into you and you're toast. So be careful on your way in.

00:31:47 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 3:

Not toast. You haven't been on a giant slot? I know. Is that? We got to take you to Belle Isle, bro. You got to get on the giant slot.

00:31:54 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 4:

The giant is not open during the wintertime, though, is it? It should be though

00:31:59 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 3:

Why don't they open a giant slide in the winter

00:32:01 - 00:32:03 | Speaker 4:

You can do tobogganing or something

00:32:03 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 3:

Or sledding down it

00:32:04 - 00:32:11 | Speaker 4:

Do you think there's anybody that goes there Is it there during the winter time They just leave it just sitting there

00:32:11 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 3:

Did you see how people were flying when it wasn't a sheet of ice

00:32:14 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 4:

They tried to tone it down a little bit And it got super weak Let's do it, let's just go over there today Let's go over like during, after the War of the Roses We're heading over

00:32:22 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:32:29 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is time now for the 5 at 6.55. Our reigning champ in the 5 at 6.55 is Nick. He's going for three in a row. Welcome back, Nick, your challenger today. Welcome Angela with us today. Hi, Angela. What's happening?

00:32:44 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you doing?

00:32:46 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic.

00:32:47 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Nick, say hi to Angela. Good morning, Angela. Good morning.

00:32:52 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 4:

We're going to lock you up in a soundproof area again, Nick. We'll be right back with you. We'll see how you do, okay? Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Angela, how long have you heard this contest on this radio show? You've been listening for a little bit?

00:33:07 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do it while I'm working. I listen to it through the iHeartRadio. Usually I get three, sometimes four right. But I wanted to thank you guys because I won pink tickets and I took my granddaughter and I made her a t-shirt that said it was my first concert and I took a marker. Long story short, every worker that we ran into, I had sign it. They end up moving us to main floor. That's awesome. That's incredible. Angela, it says you work at the airport. What do you do for the airport? So I am the girl that everything that gets delivered, like to Starbucks and to the stores, like your favorite one, Spanx, and all that. I'm the girl that makes sure it gets checked, securely put on the truck, and I get it to where it needs to go. Nice.

00:33:57 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 4:

Steal me some Manx if you can. Give me some of those man Spanx.

00:34:03 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 2:

I called the day you talked about it, and the lady said there's no more. Yeah, they stopped selling.

00:34:09 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 4:

They've discriminated against men. They don't like men anymore with Spanx. All right, here we go.

00:34:14 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 2:

I didn't get with Trump with that one.

00:34:16 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 4:

You know what? Actually, what I'm doing is I'm going to Kim Kardashian now. I've switched now. I switched brands.

00:34:21 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 5:

Is she doing, like, Mimms then instead of Skims?

00:34:23 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 4:

She's got, yeah, she's got men's versions. Yeah, she's got, yeah. All right, here we go. We've got to get to these questions. I'm nervous.

00:34:28 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Let's get this.

00:34:29 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 4:

00:38:01 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Patrick Mahomes. Perfect score. Show off. Nice job. Amazing. You didn't give us a drum solo. Angela, you can call here anytime. And Lydia, give her a special parking spot here at the radio station so that we can say hi to her whenever we want to. She's the best. All right, I'm going to bring you guys some red. I'm sorry, what did you say, Lydia? I said, Mojo, I don't even get special parking in front of the radio station. You know what? Lydia. When you move my cones. They had cones out in front of and blocking off Lydia's spot. I wonder who it was that put cones there to try to block that spot. Interesting. Yeah. Angela. I love you guys. We love you. We love you too. We love you too. We're going to set you up with a $50 Kroger gift card. Go spend that foolishly. Have a great day today. Nick, we'll see you tomorrow. See you guys. Thank you. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning. Hey, Jennifer. Yeah. So you think your husband is cheating. He's one of those guys that plays with his phone a lot. Like he's doing stuff on his phone and then he's secretive with the phone. Real quick, before you tell us some of the stuff you have, you actually caught him in something you thought with the phone and he started running away from you with the phone yeah i don't even think we need to make a call on more of the roses how do you make an excuse for that behavior well there's something even

00:40:00 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 2:

more suspicious than that what was it that you just recently saw i saw a text message um to this

00:40:07 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 3:

girl danielle like asking him for 50 do we know who danielle is no idea and no other text in that chain just that one it was weird because there weren't enough it didn't make sense so i do think it was like he deleted previous messages you know what i mean so you're reading through and it

00:40:27 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't seem like it matches up, but she's asking for $50. What was his response to her wanting 50 bucks?

00:40:36 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 1:

He hadn't responded yet.

00:40:38 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Or he deleted the response.

00:40:40 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 1:

Or he's responding in person or over the phone.

00:40:42 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:40:44 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All those.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 2:

And you don't know any Daniels at all. You have no clue who this person might be.

00:40:51 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 3:

No, it's also spelled a way that I've never seen. And so it's not like D-A-N-Y-E-L-L-E. Definitely don't know a Danielle like that.

00:41:00 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Has he ever cheated on you before? Do we have a repeat cheater here?

00:41:07 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 3:

No. Just suspicious stuff of the phone, like I said.

00:41:10 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever gotten to a point where you've wanted to do something like this or try to set him up to think he's cheating?

00:41:20 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 3:

Not this far, but I definitely like, this isn't the first time I've looked at his phone. because I feel suspicious. So, no, this is the first time I'm, like, taking it to you guys. This feels like a big deal.

00:41:31 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 2:

All right. How long have you guys been married? About three years. How many kids do you guys have?

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 3:

We have two.

00:41:39 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 2:

Wow. All right, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We're hoping that he sends them to Jennifer. It's the Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses. Can you mute your phone?

00:41:52 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:41:52 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 2:

All right, mute it, and let's call. Here we go.

00:42:04 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:42:05 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 1:

Hi, is this Tim?

00:42:08 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:42:09 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Tim. My name is Nicole. I'm calling from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. If you have less than a minute to answer some survey questions, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be sent out today to the person of your choice anywhere in the country, completely free of charge to you. So I'm wondering if you have a minute to get some free flowers. It's just two questions. It'll be super quick.

00:42:38 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 5:

How did you get my info?

00:42:41 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 1:

We basically buy lists from other companies, being transparent.

00:42:47 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 5:

Um, two questions, let me ask you the first question.

00:42:52 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Tim?

00:42:57 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

Uh, no.

00:42:58 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:43:04 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 5:

No, probably not.

00:43:06 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, you're done by the way. That was it. Um, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long stemmed red roses, which again, will go out today or any other day that you want to specify, but usually we send them out same day. Do you have somebody in mind that you'd like to send some flowers to?

00:43:27 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you don't need my credit card or anything, right?

00:43:29 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

Nope. No, I'm going to need some info about who these are going to, starting with a first and a last name and a few other things, but no credit card or anything like that. They really are truly free.

00:43:46 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Um, yeah, I guess let's, let's send them to, uh, Danielle.

00:43:57 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay. How do you spell that?

00:44:00 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 4:

D-A-N-Y-E-L-L-E.

00:44:07 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And the last name?

00:44:11 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:44:12 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

okay and what is her phone number uh it's one six four okay and what's her relationship to you

00:44:33 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 5:

Uh, it's my girlfriend.

00:44:38 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And Tim, we do something unique at rosesbloom.com. Instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, Danielle, in this case, is going to receive a text message alerting her that she has a delivery, and there's also going to be a voice note attached to it, and that voice note is in lieu of the paper card. So I'm going to record that here with you. You can make it as long or short as you want, say anything you want, but that's... That's what she's going to play to know who the flowers are from. Does that make sense? Sure. Okay, I'm going to count you down, and then you just go ahead and talk. Three, two, one.

00:45:12 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Hey, baby. I'll see you next week.

00:45:17 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And, Tim, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:45:25 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's fine.

00:45:27 - 00:45:27 | Unknown:

Great.

00:45:28 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 2:

Tim, I'm going to wrap up the call by coming on and getting all the information to you. And then we'll hang up the phone. But first, I wanted to let you know that there was one more thing that we didn't tell you. And that is while you were sending these flowers off to Danielle, that your wife, Jennifer, was listening in and just heard you send flowers to another woman. Tim, your wife, Jennifer, called up to Mojo in the morning show and was suspicious that you were cheating on her and her suspicions came true. Tim there's no joke here the joke wouldn't be funny especially to Jennifer who just heard you send flowers to another woman call her your girlfriend and then say that you're getting together again with her next week. Jennifer?

00:46:48 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah?

00:46:52 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 2:

Not funny, is it?

00:46:54 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

No. I can't believe this right now.

00:47:06 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 2:

Tim, you have two kids and a wife.

00:47:10 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Are you going to say something?

00:47:19 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know.

00:47:22 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 4:

No, you know what? I don't want to hear it. I can't do this.

00:47:26 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to... Jennifer, I'm going to stop this right now because I don't want to do this to you.

00:47:32 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:47:33 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer, I'm terrible. I'm terrible. Hang on one second.

00:47:40 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 3:

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses.

00:47:51 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. It's heartbreaking to hear Jennifer's reaction to finding out that her husband and father of her kids sends flowers to another woman. And then he completely goes silent. Now, we did let them talk for a while, and they were in private talking. But there was one part of a conversation that I actually asked Jennifer. I said, would you be okay if we ever played this and played it on the radio? She said yes to. But it was him trying to horribly explain himself and his remorse for what happened. Tim, what did you want to say to Jennifer?

00:48:33 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 3:

i don't i don't even know what to say right now

00:48:38 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 4:

if i open my mouth i'm just i i'm gonna i'm gonna cuss so much and say things i'll i just can't do this right now i'm so i'm so devastated

00:48:55 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 2:

tim i don't think that there's anything that you can say other than just trying to figure your out all right we're the roses here on the mojo in the morning show comments on this one interesting her reasoning why she thought he was cheating uh the idea that she saw something on his phone but also the idea that he was like running out of the room with his phone which to me is always interesting has anybody ever experienced that at all in dating or in a relationship where their significant other just is so weird with their phone uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number uh chauncey wants to make a comment we'll go through

00:49:43 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

some comments first chauncey what's up oh yeah i'd like to make a comment um you know he didn't have the audacity to say anything and then he made a commitment before God you know to be faithful and

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 4:

And to me, I think he's not even responsible enough to have that thing down there. I think he should become a eunuch.

00:50:05 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know if you can necessarily make that happen, but that's an interesting thought. I wonder if that's an option. But thank you for the call, Chauncey. I think Lydia, by the way.

00:50:18 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't know he was going to say that. I was like, what the heck? Come on.

00:50:24 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Joe, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:50:26 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 7:

first of all jen jennifer you are so much better off without him go get him for everything he's worth second of all as a married man and father this was the best part of my morning hearing this douchebag get caught he was so slick with the oh i'll see you next week baby and then when you said your wife is on the phone what what oh no i don't know what to say he's sorry that he did it he's Sorry that he got caught.

00:50:57 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 2:

Good call, Joe. Thanks, buddy. I appreciate it. Lydia redeemed herself with you.

00:51:01 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 7:

Have a good one, guys. You too. Woo! Just ate out of the way.

00:51:06 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 1:

Come on.

00:51:07 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too, man. God has got a lot.

00:51:10 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 1:

Also, weird to air horn during a War of the Roses.

00:51:13 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Rosie is next. Rosie, what's going on? It's Mojo on the Morning Show, War of the Roses.

00:51:19 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. I was saying he definitely had no regrets or remorse Because when he was asked, like, about the relationship to the woman, he said girlfriend instantly. So he clearly wasn't thinking about his wife nor his kids. And in my head, she should just divorce him because he has no respect for her. And that's a terrible thing for him to do. And I agree with the previous caller. He's only sorry he got caught.

00:51:46 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's tough. It was tough to listen to. I have to tell you, some Warrior of the Roses, you're listening to them. and you know that the person that is doing the checking up has strength to be able to just beat the crap out of that person. This one here is a heartbreaking one, and I feel bad. I almost wonder if I would have ever wanted to do it if I knew that Jennifer was in the condition that she was in, but it's understandable. And I think sometimes we have to hear that. Sometimes you have to hear that, and not just a bunch of women who are yelling and screaming at, or guys yelling and screaming at the person that cheated on them. Because it's real that these situations, you get hurt and it breaks the family. What's up, Landon? How you doing? Hi, we're talking about this crazy thing with his phone. What happened with you, Landon?

00:52:37 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 6:

So my ex-girlfriend would go through my phone, which I had nothing to hide, but when it came to her phone, I was invading her privacy.

00:52:45 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Ah, so there's a double standard there. Super sketch. What was the case there? Why was she not wanting you to invade her privacy?

00:52:54 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 6:

Because she was texting other men.

00:52:56 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:52:57 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 1:

Now, was that the whole relationship that was her stance, or did that kind of develop? Because if that develops, that's a clear red flag.

00:53:04 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 6:

It developed over the last few months of our relationship.

00:53:08 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 2:

Don't you get the feeling, though, that the reason why she wanted to go through your phone is the guilt that she had?

00:53:14 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

00:53:15 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I do feel that way.

00:53:17 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:53:17 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 3:

Like knew all of the spots where stuff could be, you know, shady and hidden.

00:53:22 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was obviously projecting her guilt onto you and thinking that you were doing something wrong. Robert, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:53:32 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:53:33 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? Good morning.

00:53:36 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 4:

So he was like deer in headlights. Even if he had anything to save in the relationship, he would have said at least one word. In all the previous War of the Roses, someone talks or tries to explain, but he was just like, I think he just has given up on the relationship and not saying anyone's fault. I think he's just not compatible or strong enough to have a relationship.

00:54:00 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if that's the case. I wonder if the guy's given up or he's wanting the best of all worlds. You know, sometimes you do give up, but it's, I don't know. What do you think the $50 was? We haven't touched on that. What do you guys think that the $50 was that she was asking for? And why such a small amount that she was asking for?

00:54:22 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 3:

And also, don't you just send a Venmo request? Yeah. Like, there's so many weird little questions with that.

00:54:28 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Alicia?

00:54:30 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey.

00:54:31 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Alicia. What do you think the $50 was?

00:54:36 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 5:

There's no telling at that point, but he probably cash-apped it.

00:54:39 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 2:

You think? You think it was just sending it through some kind of a cash app?

00:54:44 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 5:

It could be. He probably didn't even respond if he just sent it through.

00:54:47 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, that's a good point. But I'm wondering, like, why $50? And then why was he deleting certain text messages, like she said? She felt like it was kind of jumbled as far as how.

00:55:00 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 1:

the uh the the messages were to to uh from the this girl this what was her name danielle yes what did you want to call for alicia what were you going to say before i asked you that question

00:55:10 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 4:

uh you had asked the question about people running out of the room with their phones when you catch them yeah so i went through my husband's phone while he was in the shower he realized what i was doing came out of the shower grabbed it from me went downstairs and because i wouldn't let it go because i'd already seen it took his phone and smashed in half on his knee so that I couldn't read the text messages.

00:55:30 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:55:31 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 4:

Innocent behavior. Oh, yeah, absolutely.

00:55:34 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 1:

Did we find out what he was doing?

00:55:38 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 4:

He was cheating on me with a co-worker. You said husband, though, that it wasn't past tense. Are you still with him? Oh, no, we're still together. We ended up working through it. He no longer works there because that was that deal. And so we're still working through it for the most part.

00:55:53 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 1:

And does he give you access to his phone anytime you want it?

00:55:57 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, unlimited, yeah. If I even, because I'm still not over it, if I even have an inkling, I just, can I have your phone? And he hands it over.

00:56:04 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 1:

How long ago was this?

00:56:05 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 4:

And when you smash a phone, three or four months ago.

00:56:09 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow, this is so nice. Is it hard for him to find a job when you said, hey, he's got to get a new job?

00:56:16 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 4:

He went and found another job doing the same thing, but it was a while there because of a reputation. It's a small town.

00:56:23 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Well, good luck. Keep us up to date on what goes on, Alicia, okay?

00:56:28 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 2:

Check the notes app. That's the new place to do it.

00:56:30 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Seriously. Brittany, what's going on?

00:56:36 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:56:37 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Brittany.

00:56:38 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 5:

So my ex-fiance, he used to sleep with his phone under his pillow. He used to lock his phone. He used to sit on the couch and would sit the opposite direction of me just so I couldn't see what he was doing on his phone or his laptop. He was dumb, so I clearly was able to figure out his password because it's his birthday. And I could see him that he texts this other girl. He was texting her good morning, texting her throughout the day. When I confronted him, he got mad, and he actually, of course, denied it all, which you can't because I've seen it. And he even broke his laptop.

00:57:19 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't think he's guilty at all. That's amazing.

00:57:23 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 5:

No, he wasn't at all.

00:57:24 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 1:

That guy has every base covered, and you do, too. You got through all of that. You're not a man.

00:57:31 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 2:

I really want to know when he charged his phone, if he slept with it under his pillow.

00:57:35 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 5:

I think he charged his at work.

00:57:38 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 1:

The interesting thing was that you said, fiancé, you were going to get married to this guy. He was going to marry you, even though he was doing all this other crap.

00:57:48 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, actually, we had our wedding date planned. Everything was paid for, the venue, everything. and um yeah i i started to connect the dots and um i just kind of realized this isn't the type of person that i wanted to have children with and grow old with and i i cut it off good for you

00:58:07 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 1:

thank you britney thank you for the call sorry about that tyler thinks that uh tyler knows exactly what the 50 was for what is it for tyler yeah how's it going guys first time called a long

00:58:20 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 3:

so i mean i've had my fair share of 50 dollars in um relationships and uh it could be gas but i'm going with a plan b for this one oh my god i never thought of that yeah and they're linking up this week wow

00:58:41 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:32 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending and the Dirty on 30. What do you got for us, Shannon?

00:59:35 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, actress Blake Lively is now being sued by a crisis management firm that allegedly played a pretty key role in the PR standoff between her and her co-star, Justin Baldoni. Jed Wallace of Street Relations is accusing Blake of defamation for roping him into this mess. One of which alleged that he created artificial content on social media that appeared to... attack her and defend Justin. So like this pile on technique we keep hearing about, he's looking for at least seven mil and a court order stating that he did not do what he is being accused of. He wants to save his reputation as a PR consultant here. Now in related dirty, I heard something yesterday that I thought was very interesting. This legal drama just might end with a settlement before next year's trial date. And it's all thanks to Taylor Swift. If it happens. The threat of a Taylor Swift deposition could end this thing real quick. Now, Taylor's a close friend of Blake's and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, right? She was at their apartment during that now infamous meeting where Blake, Justin Baldoni and Ryan Reynolds were working on the It Ends With Us rooftop scene, which Blake had rewritten. And that's a big part of this legal drama. Justin Baldoni's lawyer, Brian Friedman, was a guest on this new TMZ legal podcast called two angry men with Harvey Levin and Mark Garagos and the question was thrown out there are you going to depose Taylor Swift in this case and Justin's attorney was like I'm not sure it would be a game time decision if it happened but then he went on to add I can tell you this anybody that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed and Taylor was there that night that a lot of stuff happened so he said just the threat of Taylor's deposition might accelerate a settlement offer to avoid the biggest pop star in the world

01:01:33 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 1:

being put on the stand. I'm so bummed. I wanted this to go to court so bad, but I knew when it was a year out, they were going to settle beforehand. Yeah, I'm thinking a settlement's coming in the next, I would say month or two, actually. He was a record executive, music

01:01:49 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

producer, and entrepreneur, best known as the founder of Murder, Inc. Records. Urgati has died yeah the cause of death unknown there he was shouted out um he suffered a stroke last year i know that so there was a health issue but he was only 54 years old rose to prominence in the late 90s early 2000s played a key role in hip-hop and r&b records at that time working with artists like ja rule ashanti dmx um he was i mean he was like big in this scene because before starting Murder, Inc. He was an A&R at Def Jam. He helped bring DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja Rule to that label. So big, big, big music. And young, man. I can't believe how young. 54 years old.

01:02:35 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to Gotti. A bit crazy, a bit weird. A lot of people view it like that, but what am I going to do? So yeah, it's a weird life. And yeah, it's a crazy life.

01:02:47 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Gotti, man. He's one of the hip-hop pioneers. He gets lost when we talk about the super producers, especially when you look at Diddy for what he did for music, or you look at Jermaine Dupri. People don't talk a lot about Gotti, but, man, got about 30 hits. Billboard, Chop Tart. All the ones we're playing right now. Shout out to Gotti and blessing to his family and his children. It's sad. It's sad. He's so young, stroking the mat.

01:03:17 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, this story's gone virally. A Frontier Airlines passenger was restrained on a flight from Denver to Houston after he allegedly began screaming and punching the aircraft window. This was just 20 minutes into the flight.

01:03:32 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 5:

Now to the alarming moments on a flight from Denver to Houston, a passenger accused of cracking a window in midair, allegedly punching and kicking it until it cracked. Passengers were horrified, helping to hold him down. And in Seattle tonight, two planes clodding on the tarmac. Here's Trevor Ault.

01:03:46 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 6:

tonight stunning scenes on a frontier airlines flight passengers restraining a man who witnesses say started throwing punches the plane traveling from denver to houston overnight when that passenger allegedly became combative striking the window and seat he was screaming in multiple

01:04:07 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 7:

languages and punching out the window and like laying back and trying to kick it out

01:04:11 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 6:

Passenger struggling to hold him down, fighting to tie his hands and buckling him into a seat.

01:04:17 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 7:

It took a couple guys to get his arms behind him and secure.

01:04:20 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 6:

The plane window seemed cracked with bloodstains. A police officer meeting the plane at the gate upon landing. The Houston PD says Frontier Airlines declined to press charges.

01:04:31 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how could they decline to press charges? The guy's doing all that stuff.

01:04:35 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? They simply did like a wellness check.

01:04:39 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

Unreal. And there also was another aviation thing yesterday, too.

01:04:42 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Seattle today, another jarring incident. Two planes colliding on the tarmac. The wing of a taxiing Japan Airlines flight striking the tail of a Delta Airlines plane waiting for deicing. The plane just kind of jolted. It felt like you were in a car accident. The Delta tail was, like, lodged into the wing.

01:05:00 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's wild. I mean, all this stuff's going on. And sometimes I also believe that the media just does a bunch of stories where we've seen near misses and things like this at airports. Now it's just the main stories on the news. But still, it scares the crap out of you. And you wonder if, I always wonder sometimes if stuff like this is happening, if it's happening for a reason to kind of like hold the airlines and check that they're now doing the stories more. I don't know. Like they're trying to, because I know if you looked at the price of what tickets are now, the price of tickets, highest that it's been in the last five years. Really? To go on an airplane. Yeah. It's insane. Ridiculous. It's so insane. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, get caught up by checking out the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or mojointhemorning.com. 01:07:39 - 01:07:40 | Unknown:

Jerk. Wow.

01:07:41 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Poor girl was just out. Oh, I love ASMR. All right. Um, Mojo on the morning show. Uh, thanks for being here. Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Cav, KP, Lydia, Zach, Bianca. Good to have you guys here with us. Uh, I would like to know if anybody else on this show or you that's listening would admit that you have this. Uh, so I found myself now having a, um, a crush. When's the last time you had a crush? Oh, currently. Really? Oh my God. Yeah. We all know who Megan's crush is. Oh, so big. Our security guard? Yes. Let's have him, let's do this. Let's fake that somebody broke into the building here and he has to come in here and then have Megan just be in the building, in the office. My hero. Tied up in the studio. Oh my God. This needs to be its own topic of why she hasn't asked him out yet, so. My crush is a little different. It's the girl at Starbucks. I want to know if you have ever had a retail crush. I am like the type of person that has to have like way too much coffee lately. For some reason, I never liked coffee. Now I like coffee. I get coffee in the morning. I get coffee in the afternoon. Well, it's my afternoon coffee that has turned into a crush because I always go to the same Starbucks drive-thru by my house. And that same Starbucks drive-thru always has the same girl working the Starbucks drive-thru. And I'm not going to say your name because I don't want to embarrass her, but I am going to say this. for some reason i drive through to pick up my you know my starbucks cold brew and when i drive through she makes my heart a flutter it goes pop pop pop pop pop pop pop pop she's not the one that draws on your cups this is something different right no i actually have we have a new one uh that uh that we go to in the morning that lydia and i go to in the morning uh that she does she draws on my cups which is very nice i got a smiley face today this one has not driven uh drawn on my cups. Although today, after talking about this, she may now put a restraining order against me after saying this, but I know that there are those that have retail crushes, people that work at stores that you go to that you go, Oh God, I hope that they're working. And you might even find yourself doing this, huh?

01:10:00 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 3:

fix the eyebrows make sure the hair looks okay scoop up the boobs and the bra maybe pull out the deodorant out of the old center console and it's funny because there's the window between us obviously the drive through window but I always make sure I don't have anything in my teeth stuff like that and I know I'm a married man listen if you can't flirt and if you can't actually have a little bit of a crush you're dead You know what I mean? You're dead. You're dead. And if Chelsea had a crush, and I know she might or might not have one, but if she had a crush on somebody, I'd be fine with it as long as that crush doesn't ever turn into her or me going into the store and next thing you know, we're hanging out at that person's house on a weekend.

01:10:42 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 6:

Do you ever say in front of her, like, oh, this girl, like, that girl's so cute.

01:10:47 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 3:

Years back, I did at Home Depot, the girl in the paint department at the Hagerty Road, you hang out at Home Depot. Years ago, I said to her, she sent me up there for one specific thing, and it was to get paint for our house on Cherry Blossom. And I said to her, I go, listen, here's the deal. I don't want to do it. I don't want to go to Home Depot. I look like a fool when I'm there. She goes, no, they got it waiting for us. I show up there and it was like this woman that was working at the paint department there.

01:11:14 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 5:

I was like, what? I was like, yeah. Yeah, exactly.

01:11:21 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys ever had a retail crush?

01:11:23 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Now that you explain this, I totally get it. And shout out to Colleen and everybody at the DDA, which is my parking garage company. I have the best parking garage. And I know that sounds weird, but the people there are so nice. And Lydia, I don't know if you're taking calls on this or not, but you've been on the phone with me quite a few times as I'm leaving the parking garage. And every day I talk to the love of my life, who's the man who works the overnight shift. And every day he wishes me a blessed day, gives me an update on his grandbabies, what his plans are for the weekend. if i don't talk to this man you like my day is ruined but is he like cute older man or like true

01:11:57 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 3:

okay yeah yeah he's so cute yeah um i want to know if you ever had a retail crush too and in if you call up i'll voice this guys if you want have you ever had it go to a point where you were unhealthy with it like you know what i mean like where you tried to deep dive and look them up on instagram or facebook because i have not done that with this girl yeah like i have not Do we even know her name? I know her name because she's got her little name tag thing on there. But I don't know. I have no clue what her last name is.

01:12:26 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Is that crazy, though? To, like, try to look up somebody?

01:12:29 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 3:

If you're single, it's okay.

01:12:31 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:12:31 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:12:32 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 3:

But if you're in a relationship.

01:12:34 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It's like I did it a couple days ago.

01:12:37 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think if you're single, then, you know, okay, that's how people meet each other.

01:12:41 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I feel like that's natural. Yeah.

01:12:43 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 3:

That's like we call it organic.

01:12:45 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I've made up excuses to, like, go inside of Josiah's school. And, you know what I mean? Maybe the receptionist is the lady at the front base who's kind of cold.

01:12:55 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 6:

Is this the one that you sent an edible arrangement to? Maybe. Or thought about it? Yeah.

01:13:00 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 3:

You better be careful because if you break her heart, she'll break your son's grades. You don't want to do that. What's up, Jeff? How you doing? I'm doing good. How are you? Good. What's going on, buddy? First time, long time.

01:13:16 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Jeff's on the phone.

01:13:20 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Jeff, do you have a retail crush?

01:13:23 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Kind of, sort of, yes. Okay, tell us. What is it? You're actually looking at her, probably. Who? Megan.

01:13:31 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Hi, Megan. Hi, Jeff. What's that 401k looking like right now?

01:13:39 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 3:

Jeff, that's not a retail crush. We're not a retail... Oh, I guess we can.

01:13:43 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever met Megan in person?

01:13:45 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, I have not, but follow you guys on Facebook and stuff like that. So I wrote you guys trying to get you guys to come up to a Firebirds game here in Flint. Okay. All right. Well, that'd be kind of cool to see you guys there.

01:14:00 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 3:

The Flint Firebirds. What sport is that? I don't even know. Croquet. Hockey. Hockey. Well, we'll come up there. We'll have to stop up there. I guess we are kind of a retail crush. You come back for business every single day and get to listen to her. What's up?

01:14:12 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 1:

Tell me about the 401k.

01:14:13 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 3:

Tiffany, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:14:16 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 1:

As a former Starbucks barista, I was everybody's retail crush. I was so nice, and people thought I was flirting.

01:14:23 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Really? So you used to work at Starbucks as a barista, and you would have people flirt with you all the time?

01:14:29 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I worked at Somerset, and this guy from Taffer asked me if I wanted to be on the Kiss Cam with him. On the Kiss Cam.

01:14:35 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 5:

Ooh.

01:14:37 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

Wow. And? Did we?

01:14:39 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:14:40 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

that's interesting though tiffany because i'm wondering maybe her she's just so nice and her niceness you know comes across to me as oh god this is kind of cute you know what's going on here right now but you guys probably all good at her job yeah and i think it might be the your guys uniforms too because i used to have a crush on one of the target

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 6:

people, too, and I thought maybe it was the khakis.

01:15:02 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 5:

It's the khakis.

01:15:04 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 8:

It's a way you can snatch yourself with an apron. Ooh.

01:15:07 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 5:

But them khakis, though, on a nice booty.

01:15:10 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, they know what they're doing. The Starbucks girls, like, they always know exactly what to wear, too. Like, they all dress cool.

01:15:18 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 5:

Meg, you're right. A snatch waist and an apron? It's hot, dude. Bruh. It's real hot. Give me the size Venti. I came in for the grande.

01:15:24 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 8:

Dude, Pizza Hut used to have aprons, and some of those girls were walking around like, that, girl. You don't need a five. You need an apron.

01:15:33 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 6:

Sean, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about retail crushes.

01:15:37 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. You made me start thinking about my Home Depot crushes. Oh, really?

01:15:43 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Zip up the pants, brother.

01:15:45 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 7:

Shout out to the Home Depot and Alexis and Lewis. We love them.

01:15:49 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 6:

Shout out. And what department? What are we talking about?

01:15:54 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, they're all over. That's the only store I go to.

01:15:56 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 6:

No, I know, but what department does the hot girl at the Home Depot work at?

01:16:02 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 7:

She actually moved up into management. She's like a whole lot.

01:16:06 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 3:

How often are we going there, Sean? You sound a little nervous. I don't know.

01:16:10 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 7:

Twice a day. I tell my wife all about it. Oh, my God. You got a trench coat on with no clothes.

01:16:23 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Hannah? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:16:27 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I used to flirt with my retail crush at the local gas station and flirt my way into free fountain pops for myself. Oh, that's funny.

01:16:36 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 6:

That's the best when you can actually get something out of the whole deal, huh? Good job.

01:16:40 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:16:41 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 6:

That's awesome. Where are we talking? A little Speedway action here?

01:16:47 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. There was actually one called Come and Go when I used to live in the Midwest. Yes.

01:16:51 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, with the K. Come and go with the K. We're in Toledo.

01:16:54 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 6:

Hey. You got to love that. is that not a come and go jessica what's up now i feel like i'm kevin what's going on what's going on jessica hi how are you guys good what's going on do you ever have a retail crush yeah so uh at

01:17:14 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 1:

rush cannabis and hazel park uh this is one guy he's just gorgeous and every time i go in he knows exactly what i want gives me like every time but so then my husband he's always like oh your boyfriend working today because whenever he goes in he just gives him this snub look like whenever he's with me but when I'm by myself he's just always like hi how's it going I'm so happy to see you and then one time he my husband was so drunk he came in with me and he just said this out so loud oh I see your husband your boyfriend's working today I see what he does for you I was just mortified at the counter I just could not even believe that he said that I was like I can

01:17:54 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 6:

never come back here again that's by the way that's actually kind of funny that uh it changes when you bring him with i wonder if i if i drive through the drive-thru of the starbucks do i have

01:18:04 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 8:

to tell chelsea to duck if she's in the passenger seat well if we're talking about dispensaries i go out of my way to go to that one dispensary with a security guard that's super hot really yes exclusive in ann arbor is not even the most convenient one for me to go to shout out to them it's been a minute i'm not gonna lie but your security guard was so hot it wasn't even funny

01:18:22 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 4:

But do you ever purposely avoid the place where your retail crush is because you're not looking great? Absolutely. Like, everybody in the Metro Detroit area, and Mojo, you think he's hot, too, knows Mike, the owner of Premier Pet Supply. Oh, yeah. If I need dog food and treats, but I just worked out at the Planet Fit Next next door, I'm like, I'll just do the home delivery. I ain't going in there.

01:18:41 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:18:42 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not.

01:18:42 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 6:

That is a good-looking man. All right. If it's true that you are what you eat, Mojo must have been eating sexy beef this morning. Oh, I love it. All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. Megan took herself on a date.

01:18:57 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 8:

I did.

01:18:58 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 6:

Where'd you go?

01:18:59 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 8:

I went to the Fisher.

01:19:01 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 6:

You went to a show by yourself?

01:19:02 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 8:

I went to a show by myself. Did you see Clue? I did. Was it good? It's very funny.

01:19:06 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 6:

When you go and see a show by yourself, can you buy one ticket and get a good deal on it, or how does that work?

01:19:12 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, yeah. I love finding the really good ticket that somebody bought the seats on the other side so nobody's going to buy that one ticket. and it's like front row center, like, I love getting tickets like that.

01:19:23 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 6:

I've gone to movies by myself. I've never thought about a show like, that would actually be a cool thing to do.

01:19:27 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 8:

Let me tell you, I love it because nobody's talking anyway, so once you get there and you sit down, it's great. And you can run late, and I'm not going to lie, I am a huge theater nerd, but if you see something really bad and you want to leave an intermission, you can skedaddle, and nobody cares. It's the best. But I went to the show, and I was running a little bit behind, and I don't know why I decided it was a good time to hit up the bar, but I did. but I wasn't really paying attention and unfortunately um I was trying to like check my ticket at the same time and see which aisle I was supposed to be entering into and I wasn't watching people walking away from the

01:20:00 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 5:

bar and I get up to the bar and I, I order a drink and I just wanted a beer. I thought it would be fast. Like, I'm not kidding you. The lights were flickering in the lobby, like shows about to start. So I'm like, if I get a mixed drink, it's going to take a minute. If I get a beer, I'm sure they'll just like pop the top, hand it to me and I can walk away. And that was the case, except for the fact that I truly believe it must've been a 40 ounce. I, it was so comically large, this beer that I got by myself that it felt like a little kid with, do you remember those like crayon coin banks you had as a kid yes i loved those it felt like i was carrying that around filled with alcohol and it was like hey everybody let's party by myself i sit down and i it's a one act gluiz so it's a play and it's only like an hour and 28 hour and a half no intermission it's real quick and i drank the entire thing i didn't even realize it and it wasn't until i stood up that i was like oh I think I might be a little bit drunk by myself right now and I had these sweetest listeners in front of me who were just the nicest girls in the world and they said oh my god can we take a photo with you and I felt so like just loved and it was a great experience but I was sitting there in front of the camera I was like look normal like pull yourself together you're alone and possibly drunk at a play by yourself like just pull yourself together and if i saw these photos i'm wondering

01:21:24 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 2:

if i had those drunk eyes you'll have to but if you're the person that took the pictures with megan at the fisher you'll have to uh you know call us and send it to us can i uh can i ask the question about uh going by yourself yeah but the girls yeah do you want to know who they are

01:21:38 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 5:

yeah who are they madison rachel and sandy from hill orthopedic and pendulum vein and vascular

01:21:44 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:21:45 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 5:

I got it. I was smart enough to take notes.

01:21:47 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 2:

We got a full-on plug for those guys. I like it. Real quick, is it bad, though, when you're on a date by yourself and you're drunk and now you got to figure out how you're going to get home?

01:21:56 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 5:

My ass had to take public transportation. Oh, yeah. So I was standing on that Q platform for quite a while going, should I Google when this train stops moving? I was like, is it coming?

01:22:07 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 2:

It's funny. I used to have it back when I could not go to anything by myself. Like I felt like I would be like so lonely at it that I couldn't do it. So it's interesting that you say that you went to a show like that because I would never have thought of going to that kind of show. I've wanted to, for the longest time, go to a concert by myself. But the problem is I couldn't do a concert by myself. Concerts suck. Even though there's a lot of people that are there and you can kind of mix in like making people think that you're with somebody else.

01:22:35 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:22:35 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like I would feel lonely at the concert by myself.

01:22:37 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 4:

That's the one thing. I can do a lot of things alone. I love taking solo trips. I love going out to eat by myself. I don't think I would go to a play by myself. I don't think I could do a concert.

01:22:46 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 5:

No, because nobody wants you to sing and dance with them if they don't know you. So you're really like isolated at a concert. Like when you're singing and dancing, you're singing at your friends or at the stage. But when you're alone, you can't interact with anybody. It's weird.

01:22:59 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I've had different situations like that. I've been to concerts and I've been by myself. Really? Like Megan said, you can come when you want to come. You can leave when you want to leave. And if you're the vibe, people will gravitate towards you. At least that's been my experience. I went to a J. Cole concert by myself at Pine Knob. Really? Oh, Pine Knob you went by yourself?

01:23:20 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 2:

Outdoors by yourself.

01:23:21 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I had a ball at there.

01:23:23 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I could do it.

01:23:24 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 4:

See, but you, Kev, and this is a compliment to you, you are the vibe. I feel like if I'm at a concert, I need my fun friends around me for it to be fun. I am not the vibe. I'm not the fun one. Do you know what I mean? I'm not the fun one.

01:23:39 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. Have you ever taken yourself on a date basically by yourself? Have you ever done that before? And if so, where did you go on your date? Like where do you end up doing it? I guess, you know, aside from like going to a restaurant completely by yourself, is there like a full-on date? And then at the end of the night, do you get lucky?

01:24:06 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can always get lucky. did you yeah it's funny i don't turn myself down

01:24:11 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 2:

by the way do you ever when you do the uh date by yourself do you ever like talk to yourself and

01:24:21 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 5:

say we're going to split this one oh my god i'll get the q fair if you get the beer abby what's

01:24:28 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 1:

going on it's mojo in the morning hi hey so kevin's totally right you can absolutely go to concerts by yourself in fact it's usually better that way like I go to concerts by myself all the time because I got sick of not going to concerts because I had no one to go with yeah yeah but I will say it's so much easier if it's standing room you can't go if there's seats so I disagree

01:24:48 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 5:

I took a trip by myself to New York to see Harry Styles and the trip I felt fine and as soon as I got to the concert it felt weird were you by yourself at that one I was oh I didn't know that And I thought you were me. People were supposed to go with you. I remember that, yeah.

01:25:03 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 2:

Jamie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hey, Jamie.

01:25:08 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Hey, what's up, Mojo? What's up, team? Hey. Good morning. It's in a comment, so, you know, what Megan and Kevin said. You know, like, I've been to a concert before by myself. I've taken myself out to eat by myself, going to get drinks by myself. As long as you vibe yourself, people will come around you. They'll see it, and they'll want to be around you whether you know them or not.

01:25:30 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 2:

So they don't look at you like you're crazy? They don't look at you like, no?

01:25:34 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 1:

Like, I mean, like if you, okay, don't get me wrong. If you're sitting there all secluded, you look kind of down, or you just look like, you know, like you're in some type of mood, yeah, people are not going to want to be around you. But if you're out and you're happy and your vibe is like, you can read your aura and people will literally naturally attract you.

01:25:49 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 4:

That's so funny because now I'm wondering if this is like a guy thing versus a girl thing because I'm not going to lie. I was at a Harry Styles concert. I was in my best vibes. That's my peak vibes, and I didn't have that experience.

01:26:00 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 2:

What's the best place to go to by yourself?

01:26:04 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 1:

So for me, like I said, I go to, like, a Hispanic restaurant a lot and just get, like, a quick meal. And mind you, like, you know, I do it, I don't want to say maybe, like, twice, maybe three times a month because investing in yourself is always the most top priority. You know what I mean? People can see that, you know? I like you, Jamie.

01:26:26 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 2:

I like you. We needed you today. Thank you. We're all not crazy. Jamie's got himself together, doesn't he? I want him to date Lydia. Why do you pick Lydia for that one? Because he seems like a really good guy. Okay. What about the rest of Megan? Well, I guess K.P.'s take him. Megan want Majib and K.P. Oh, this is true. This is true. I do really want him. Roberta, what's going on?

01:26:49 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 3:

Hola. Hola. Como estas?

01:26:52 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Hola, que tal? Bien y tu?

01:26:53 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 3:

Ay, muy bien y tu? Gracias.

01:26:57 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

01:26:59 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Not much. I go on dates all the time. I love my self-date. It's love me 2025. I go to wineries, especially like in an Amish town. Oh, yeah.

01:27:10 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 5:

Not in the Amish town? What's so good about the wineries in the Amish town?

01:27:15 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 3:

Tell me. Well, for one, you're like 100 times hotter because a lot of times, you know, a lot of these women ain't showing skin. So I might wear a little stuff. Come through, Jebediah.

01:27:26 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Everybody's looking like, where did that girl come from? Oh, my gosh.

01:27:32 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 4:

Let's see if we can get that carriage a rocket.

01:27:36 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Roberta, you are.

01:27:37 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 4:

That's how we Eastside Girls do it.

01:27:42 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Nicole, you went to Faster Horses on a solo date?

01:27:48 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 5:

Kind of. My friend went with me, but she ditched me when she met. She's into older men, so she met a bunch of older men and kind of ditched me. and I kind of did the whole weekend by myself. Oh, my God. That would be tough. I commend you for that.

01:28:03 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Was it fun?

01:28:05 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I had a good time because I love music in general, but country music is probably my favorite. But I can make friends anywhere.

01:28:14 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 2:

That's cool.

01:28:14 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 5:

I kind of relate to Kevin because I'm kind of a vibe, if I can toot my own horn.

01:28:19 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 2:

I like it. Hong Kong. Well, good for you.

01:28:23 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 5:

But, yeah, I had a great time.

01:28:24 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. I often thought that, you know, A lot of the live nations and stuff like that have, like, one tickets available. I'm like, give us the one tickets and we'll give them to people. Hey, you want to go to a show by yourself? That's actually a really great idea. Do, like, solo concerts or something. This is wild. A vacation to Disney World. You went by yourself. Is that right, Stephanie?

01:28:44 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. Good morning, guys. I love taking myself places, doing things on my own. I don't mind. I like being with myself. So for my 29th birthday, my best friend was getting married down in Florida. I went a couple days early on my actual birthday. And I took myself to Epcot, and I drank around the world by myself. Oh, God. You just get on the line of rail and go home. I made so many friends. I made so many friends. I had the best time. I bought myself a Chiara on all fries. Yeah, it was amazing. And people are like, you went by yourself. That's cool. You drank by yourself. Yeah, absolutely. Like the other caller said, you have to invest in yourself. Yeah. And if you don't like being alone by yourself, like, do you really like yourself as a person?

01:29:36 - 01:29:36 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:29:36 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's so good.

01:29:38 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 2:

You definitely, when you're by yourself like that and you're that confident, you definitely have your stuff together, it sounds like. I can't believe the amount of concert people. Catherine, you went to Taylor Swift by yourself.

01:29:51 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 5:

sure did i went to the reputation tour by myself it was amazing were you able to get like a really good ticket a good seat

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 1:

for a good price just being a single like needing a single ticket oh absolutely yeah i think i paid

01:30:06 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 3:

like 250 and i got a floor seat i didn't have to worry about what anybody else wanted to pay or what they wanted to do i was it was everything that's awesome i would a thousand percent do it

01:30:17 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 2:

again all the swifties staying together and then amanda says that she knows the reason why i can't go into a concert by myself what is that amanda hi mojo you need somebody to wake you up when it's

01:30:29 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

You win. You win today.

01:30:59 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 1:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:31:02 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 2:

All right, are you ready?

01:31:04 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:31:06 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:31:11 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:31:13 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Good to have you guys here with us today. Got a lot to get to, a lot of fun stuff happening this morning. uh hello to anybody that is one of the beavers from uh the detroit athletic club from the dac gonna see them later today actually a bunch of us are gonna see them later today they uh they have their their beavers uh i think they is it uh the first thursday i believe of the month that they get together but um they asked if i would come and speak uh right right during their lunch and stuff so i was excited about that i'm like they have like tom iso and mad ishbia and dane gilberts and you know all these people that come and speak mojo in the morning and mojo in the morning so

01:32:00 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the morning believe me it's quite the honor that's right we all show someone is gonna think colleen our boss is gonna think we have like job interviews today i know we never dress

01:32:09 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 2:

up we're all dressed up i know we had to put collared shirts on and heels nice shoes and stuff like that that's quite the honor though man it's cool it's gonna be neat but that's how you

01:32:18 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 1:

know we like you because we caught up early to look this nice it's i believe it's i if i'm i think

01:32:23 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 2:

i'm right on this one it's the longest running club in detroit like that it's been around for the uh the the most amount of years and stuff so uh it's pretty cool and it'll be fun let me ask

01:32:33 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 1:

you this you've been at this for 25 years like what's some of the coolest things that you've

01:32:38 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 2:

been a part of super bowl was one of my favorites here when we had the super bowl back in uh what was that? Oh, six. Yeah. Here in Detroit. Yeah. That was honestly one of the coolest.

01:32:49 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

I'll never forget that. No, it was at Ford Field. Yeah. Oh, it was brand new. I forgot

01:32:54 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 2:

about that. Yeah. Ford Field Super Bowl was one of the best. And I think the reason the Super Bowl was so great was because, you know, Detroit's obviously hosting it. The world's looking at it and all of the parties that were going on. Like if I ever do a Super Bowl ever again, I don't think I'd go to the game. I'd go to the week before, like all the stuff that we're seeing happening right now where there's like the different brands. Like at that time it was Cadillac. I remember that we would go to a bunch of Cadillac parties and every celebrity was there. It was weird to see your city and see all of these people that you're like, holy crap, you know, A-list celebrities and then athletes and all that stuff. So I thought that was pretty cool. um honestly uh you know affecting listeners lives with the breaking in or christmas wish that has been freaking unbelievable and then the antics that we did the crazy stuff you know the the street scams and you know like when we uh um we would do certain things that would become part of the news like you i saw a picture of you on cav knows which by the way follow cav on cav knows i saw you with kwame kilpatrick yesterday the former mayor and that guy is obviously got a little bit of a reputation but i will tell you this about him that guy gave me more content over 25 years i mean so but we'll and i'm going to talk about this with these guys today so we're gonna we're gonna do that today and get ready because i know shannon you're going i know megan you're going lydia is going i kevin i know is not feeling great so he he's going to go home and sleep but you need to do that um but anybody else is going get ready because i'm going to talk to you guys and the beauty is this is the wildest part i did not know this you cannot tape there's

01:34:33 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 1:

no taping in this thing so you can say anything you want yeah definitely do that so i'm gonna

01:34:41 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

talk about kev wait till you hear what i say because he's not gonna hear it so it'll be cool um all right it's mojo on the morning show uh shannon ran into somebody in a very interesting place and said that they acted kind of awkward when they saw you i don't want to give any details

01:34:59 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 1:

about who they are. this person was because it, they clearly did not want it to be known that they go to this place. So I went to pick up a prescription at one of those special pharmacies. It's not like a CVS or a Walgreens or whatever. It's like a, they're called compounding pharmacies. Have you ever heard of this before? They're like very random. They're kind of small. You have to like seek them out to get certain prescriptions for different things.

01:35:25 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 4:

They make like they'll make a cheaper version of whatever the brand is because the drug companies screw us on everything.

01:35:33 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 1:

And so that or like a lot of the trial drugs or like, you know, whatever dose of something like, yes. So I was picking up a prescription at one of these types of pharmacies and I walked in and I instantly saw somebody that I know checking out at the counter. and this person looked like an absolute deer in headlights when he or she saw me i will protect this person's identity and say he or she wide eyes nervous started sweating it was super super weird and i walked over and said i was like oh my gosh hi you know this is so random and i'm running in you here and like something was very clearly off they did not want me or anybody so it seems to know that they were getting whatever it is that they were getting and like they were getting they're getting their their weight loss shots okay who cares do you know what i mean like i to me if that's if that's what you're getting i there is zero judgment but i i don't know what You guys, I walked out of there and Wes was waiting for me in the car and I'm like, I just feel like I, it was like walking in on somebody in bed with another wife. Like that's how this person was acting or husband, whatever, you know, I, it was so. You know what's weird about it? Weird.

01:36:57 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

The weird thing is because you're, where were you, can I ask what you were going in there for?

01:37:01 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I'm going, so I am on a trial right now for my asthma.

01:37:05 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Because you're going to get asthma medications.

01:37:09 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and it's probably going to get changed to it because I'm going back to the doctor.

01:37:11 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 4:

I think that the person probably seemed awkward because they probably were going for maybe a weight loss drug or something. And for some reason, I don't know why people feel so weird when they're doing it. Because their doctor still has to send them over there to go get it. It's not like they're going there and just getting it. So your doctor's getting it. But it is interesting how they'll treat them being there and whatever medication or even at like CVS and stuff you you will treat being there like somebody else doesn't have the same issues that you have. Like when you're checking out at a CVS and you're getting like wart cream, like let me tell you, guess what? Everybody gets warts.

01:37:49 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 1:

It's super fun walking around Target with yeast infection medication. Like they're boys will never know what that feels like. I hate that. And that's like in clear view of everybody shopping at Target.

01:38:02 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 4:

I want, I'm going to put out. You don't know what that is. Why are you Googling? You know how we. I mean, I've heard of them. You know how we put out into the universe things that we want to see happen to us? Here's what I want to have happen on this particular topic of Shannon bumping into this person in a place that that person did not want them to be. Like, you know, what are you doing here? We'll call this topic. I want to know if anybody's ever bumped into their boss at like lover's lane or if you've ever, or maybe strip clubs or if you ever bumped into, you know, who, uh, the, uh, the family, uh, your family pastor dog, you know, I don't know if this is good or bad, but I

01:38:49 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

ran into my grandma pastor at the casino.

01:38:52 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 4:

Did you? And he looked like he wasn't supposed to be there. Oh, see, that's an interesting one. Really?

01:38:56 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

All it was, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, all around, like, Reverend Francis.

01:39:00 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 4:

Did he have the church collection basket with him?

01:39:04 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 3:

He had a little white polo on. He kind of looked at me, but he looked at me like, okay, let's make this quick.

01:39:10 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be funny if it was a Sunday and he came right from church? They got the greatest buffet over at the MGM. um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 texas 95500 i've openly talked about how i'm taking a weight loss shot and it's working and i'm not going to hold back on it and i'll tell you guys more about it probably you know uh in the coming days but i have to tell you when i go and i get everything the people that are like working behind the counter act like they're handing me a drug deal of like whatever and I'm like it's okay I get it like it's like I'm okay with it but I get that there are some people that are not comfortable with it and because of hippos and all the rest of that stuff they get all worked up over it but I like tell everybody this is mine

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 2:

It's keeping me from eating a whole pizza. Brock, what's going on?

01:40:05 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Mojo? So a few years back, I was taking my car to go get an oil change. As I'm leaving the place, my boss is pulling up with one of my coworkers, and as they are getting out of the car, they gave each other a nice little smooch on the cheek.

01:40:22 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh. Hey, now. No sauce. Yeah. And what did you do? Did you pull out your super big lens, private investigator camera, and take a picture?

01:40:35 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I actually used it for some leverage when I went back the next week. What did you do? Yeah, I had a review over performance for the month, and I was like, hey, just a closed-door comment. I saw this this weekend, and the look of, oh, crap, on her face. She got up so fast and closed the door.

01:40:57 - 01:40:58 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:40:58 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 2:

That's unbelievable. Was she married or she was just embarrassed?

01:41:02 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 4:

She was going through a divorce at the time.

01:41:06 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

Because of that situation, maybe?

01:41:10 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 4:

No, the divorce was going on for about two months before that, and this was a new employee that started within three weeks of me noticing that.

01:41:18 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy, look at that. Guess who got a good review? I like this one.

01:41:24 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 5:

here julie hi who'd you bump into hi good morning good morning so i was at the pharmacy with my son and his friend they were probably i'm gonna say 10 12 i was getting like vitamins or something and the row right behind us was condoms and my son goes mom don't you need some of these you and dad you you buy these and i said no i don't buy those and he goes yeah you do and i said no i really don't are these the vitamins we use and he comes over and he goes do you need other stuff do you need to get those? And I, like, pulled them close to me, and I whispered it as where I go, I swear to God, if you ask me one more time.

01:41:57 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 1:

Also, I would be like, wait, have you been with Dad when he buys this? That's where I thought it was going.

01:42:02 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, right? I'm like, oh, my God. Now that he's grown up, you know, it's a whole different story. So, anyways, that was it.

01:42:09 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Listen to these ones, speaking of dads. Kelly, how you doing?

01:42:14 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 3:

Good, how are you?

01:42:15 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

Good. Where did you, where were you at, and who did you run into?

01:42:18 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 3:

I ran into my dad at Lover's Lane. Oh, no.

01:42:23 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 1:

No, you did not. What did he have in his hands? What was he shopping for?

01:42:28 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was there first, and I was actually at the checkout. Luckily, I was just buying shoes because they had exotic shoes there. And they had the checkout in, like, the center of the store. So when he walked in, our eyes met right away because that's just the way the store is laid out. And I just say, hi, Dad, just so everyone in the room knows how awkward this is. And, you know, his jaw drops. We're just surprised to see each other. And his sense of humor, he just kind of tries to laugh it off and act like he, you know, kind of mistakenly walked in there or whatever. They were having a big sale that weekend.

01:43:12 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 2:

I would die. If it was near Father's Day, you should have bought him a gift card.

01:43:18 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 3:

And, yeah, we were just kind of done with it. And a few minutes later, he called me, and my parents are divorced. And he says, oh, you know, you don't have to tell your mom about this. And I'm like, oh, no, no. And I'm trying not to laugh because she was the first person I told, of course.

01:43:35 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny about that? The funniest part of the whole deal is poor dad gets a divorce. He's not got mom anymore as his partner. All the guy wants to do is get a pocket pee, and his daughter is there. You know what I mean? Let the man have it. Come on. Real quick, were you able to get this texter on about the strip club at all, Lydia? Or no, did they not?

01:43:57 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 5:

Line eight.

01:43:58 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 2:

Line eight. Let me take line eight. Chris, who did you run into?

01:44:04 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

So it wasn't me, but my math teacher went to a strip club with a group of friends, and a student was a dancer. What?

01:44:16 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Really? I mean, that's not uncommon.

01:44:19 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

So your math teacher, your male math teacher, was there hanging out at the strip club. Interesting.

01:44:25 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I found this out years later as we were friends after I was out of high school myself.

01:44:32 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Quick question. How did the student get the job at a strip club?

01:44:36 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm guessing they weren't occurrence doing it, right?

01:44:40 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this was senior year, and it wasn't the fourth year of high school for that person.

01:44:46 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. So they were in high school still, but they were over 18, so they were able to strip at the strip club. Yeah. Interesting. Grades when only things land down. What did she tell you? Did she?

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 4:

call every one of you guys and tell her that she danced for the stripper? Or for the teacher?

01:45:05 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 2:

No, she was not one that everyone talked to. She was in my English class and she slept through it, obviously.

01:45:12 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if she got an A in the math teacher's class.

01:45:16 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't think she was in that math class.

01:45:19 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

Poor girl. That sucked that you got the other math teacher. You didn't get the strip club guy. Thanks for the call, man. I appreciate it. Lydia, why is Angela from the 5 at 6.55 calling us? Should I pick her up?

01:45:33 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 5:

Why not?

01:45:34 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay, hold on a second. Angela, 5 at 6.55. Angela, we love you so much. How are you?

01:45:40 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 5:

It's a mistake, and I'm good. So listen real quick, because I'm at work. I worked at a Coney Island, okay?

01:45:47 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:45:48 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 5:

And one of the Red Wings, and I won't say his name, but he was one of the players that won the Cup, came in with a side chick. Ooh. Oh, wow. Talk about catching somebody. So when me and the other two girls seem, you know, of course we know them. So I take the table and like, you know, oh, my God. Oh, stop it. No. Oh, I wasn't supposed to do that. Well, you did. But anyway, he just took his eye out. All right.

01:46:28 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 4:

Too much information. Too much information.

01:46:30 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 5:

I don't like her.

01:46:32 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 4:

You bad girl, by the way, Angela. Angela. By the way, Mojo, we need to make Angela an official misfit.

01:46:43 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 5:

She is. She's Airport Angela. Airport Angela. Airport Angela is on the phone. This is all alleged.

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 4:

Airport Angela.

01:46:51 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 5:

All alleged. I mean, I could be mistaken. There's so many red wings.

01:46:55 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's right. Airport Angela, Mojo on the Morning Misfit. Don't ever catch her in a dark alley.

01:47:01 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 1:

The subscription fees are out of freaking control. Not Mojo. He's free. Listen to Mojo on our free iHeartRadio app. Listen to the show live every morning on Channel 955, 104.5 SNX in West Michigan, or 925 KISS FM in Toledo. And listen to the podcast for free. Free never sounded so good.

01:47:21 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I was going to take it, but they hung up. What would you do if your doctor came to visit you at work and your work was you were a stripper at a strip club?

01:47:33 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 5:

She saw her OBGYN. Oh, hell yeah.

01:47:38 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 4:

I love that. But you know what, though? That doc sees you all the time anyway.

01:47:41 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 3:

And the plastic surgeon. Come see the work you did. You know what I mean?

01:47:45 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's not that bad. That guy has seen the worst parts of your vagina. Let him see the best parts every now and again. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Kevin. Mr. Kevin, you ran into and actually you hosted. I want to shout you out. You hosted one of our Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish families last night at the Pistons game. That was pretty special.

01:48:12 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

My guy, Emmanuel. Remember that? Yeah. His sister, for those who remember and for those who don't, his sister was murdered. She was killed in a drive-by. Yeah. And she had two young children, and Emmanuel took those children in. And he, along with his amazing family, and specifically his grandmother, they are raising those babies. And among the things that they needed in order to make that house a home, something special for Emmanuel was to come to a basketball game. He loves the Detroit Pistons. I think when I met him, he couldn't even remember if he'd been to a game. But being a big basketball fan, one of the things that us, it wasn't just me, our show, we were able to provide him an experience of coming to a Pistons game. And shout out to my guy, Lindo, with the Detroit Pistons organization. I told him, man, when you get there, man, come to Portal 9, because that's where I'm at. He called me. I told my security guys, let him come all the way down. So we brought him on the court. We set him courtside. He was able to watch the players warm up. So cool. And then shout-out to Robin, who's one of our guest services workers with the LCA team. She has been getting bobbleheads and foam fingers that light up and T-shirts, all of the little things that we give to people when they come through the doors. She has been saving this because she listens to the show. She's been three bags worth of things. Oh, my God, Robin. That's amazing. Was able to provide to Emmanuel and his family. And then Lindo brought him over so he sat on the other side next to the player's bench. And when the players got done warming up, Lindo made sure that he got a chance to meet a couple of the players who came over and shook his hand. He met Jalen Duren. Oh, my God. He took a picture with Jalen Duren. He met a bunch of guys, but Jalen Duren specifically came over, hugged him, took a picture with him. That guy's a father. And it was a great game last night, so it all worked out.

01:50:00 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

I saw your pictures.

01:50:01 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

That is so great. That's an amazing moment.

01:50:03 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 3:

You know what's great about the fact that you, first off, you working for the Pistons is awesome because the Pistons are so good to us and you are so great at being able to make stuff like that happen. That just doesn't happen if it's not for you. But the beauty is that now you can tell us something on the radio that is going to make what could have made you look horrible make you look good because you did such a good thing.

01:50:28 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Isn't that good? Can we just go to commercial? No. No, no. Is it time for the dirty? Let's be early on the dirty.

01:50:35 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 3:

I want you to tell this story about the girl. And then you guys, after you heard Kevin with that great story about Emmanuel and what he did for his family and all that stuff, I want you to give Kevin a little bit of grace here. Go ahead.

01:50:50 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't think I'm the problem in this situation. Okay. So there was a young lady who had a, would you call it a halter top or a crop top? You could see her belly. crop top so she had a crop top it wasn't like super high like right under her you know i'm saying where the chest end but it was high enough to where when she's stretched her arms she went to go stretch and yawn she's got both arms in the air she's doing like and leans back her shirt rises up and on my peripheral i see this person stretching so i look over and then when i look over i can see half of her stomach out so i look down yeah and she immediately takes one of her hands and like aggressively like pulls her shirt down as if i'm like looking at her in some creepy kind of way and i'm like your boobies i'm like that's i'm looking at her like i'm like where are you acting like i'm trying to look at your stomach in like some sexual way like no you don't

01:51:44 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 3:

want out here it's out yeah so so you it was like basically seeing a car accident you have to look right you see i was a gawker yeah is kevin in the wrong for looking at that moment or did was that It's just an innocent bystander moment.

01:51:58 - 01:52:31 | Speaker 4:

I would say it's an innocent bystander moment. If I'm at the gym and I see a girl in those leggings, I don't even know where the heck you get them, but it's like your booty crack is eating them. Do you know what I'm talking about? Those really juicy booty leggings. And if I see a girl wearing them, I can't help but be like, dang, she's got a juicy booty. I stare, but you bought them for that reason. There you go. So I'm not in, like, I'm not sitting there being a creep about it. But, like, I do, like, look. I'm like, oh, my God, she's got a good butt. It isn't.

01:52:32 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Listen, and I know this may be a bad comment, but I think you're wearing it. You almost expect that people are looking. You're not wearing it to hide it. You're wearing it to show it.

01:52:40 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 1:

My booty.

01:52:41 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

Megan? No.

01:52:42 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 2:

I would look because I know you're on the opposing side. I am.

01:52:44 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 1:

What are your thoughts? I think that it's pretty easy to just not stare and not look and just to move on with it.

01:52:51 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 4:

But if you're wearing a crop top, you want to show off your stomach.

01:52:55 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 1:

No, I think it's just.

01:52:56 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 4:

If you are wearing a crop top, you want to show off your stomach. You're not wearing a crop top if you don't feel comfortable wearing a crop top. Right. I like boobies. Yes. So then you can't give Kevin a nasty look if he notices your stomach. Now, if he were sitting there with his tongue hanging out and being a weirdo, that's a very different story. Right. But if he just kept it, like if he looks over at you as you're yawning, I don't know. I feel like, by the way, because I've worn like I have a crop sweatshirt and KP always says, stop putting your hand up and adjusting your headphones because you can see the bottom of your bra. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, crap. That is I do not want that to happen. So I'm wondering if that's why she like very quickly pulled down the shirt that it it accidentally showed too much. She looked at me when she did it. And I could understand why she was uncomfortable. Right. But I don't think that she could get mad at people looking at her stomach if she walked out of the house wearing a crop top. Your stomach is showing.

01:53:48 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 2:

I like the conversation. surrounding did you wear that for attention or did you wear it for yourself because to your point with those ruffle booty shorts I feel like some people are wearing things so people can look at

01:54:01 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 4:

them yeah well it's not even it's both I think that if you think that those accentuate your I'll use that as the example if you think those leggings accentuate your booty and you feel confident and good you are wearing them out but you also have to understand that people are

01:54:16 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

naturally we are all human beings going to look yeah 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 um thoughts on this comments i'd like to hear your perspective excuse me uh that was that was a little breakfast coming uh i would like to hear your thoughts and be mindful of the fact that kevin just did a very nice thing and i want to make sure that he doesn't get too uh you know too tarnished by this comment that he's made here uh text her here uh 616 616 says kev you did nothing wrong you were just looking if you would have said something then it would have been bad uh let's see her uh 231 said

01:55:00 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 2:

uh kevin no you were good you just bringing it up on the radio might not be a good idea uh what's up grace how you doing hi hi how are you guys you know what grace i'm doing fantastic it's nice to see you even though i can't see you what's going on what are your thoughts on this

01:55:21 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 7:

01:55:58 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 2:

doesn't look because i wonder about that like you know i don't i don't get upset i just don't think

01:56:04 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 7:

about it but if somebody does look i'm like oh okay well it's cute okay 734 says cav no harm no

01:56:10 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

foul uh chrissy what's up chrissy how you doing it's mojo in the morning hi hi where are you underwater right now are you okay do we need to send you like a life vest no just driving oh there you are how are you what's up good yeah yeah things are good here what's going on uh not much just driving just yeah girl we'll show you did you have a comment you would like to say

01:56:35 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 6:

uh yeah i mean looking never hurt anybody okay so you're okay with it do you wear outfits like that or have you had that moment happen to you uh yeah i go to shows quite often so okay um be wearing quite revealing outfits sometimes and i mean i look at other people quite often as well

01:56:54 - 01:57:02 | Speaker 2:

do guys do this by the way if a guy wears excessively tight pants to show off the bulge and you look. Like, do you guys have this ever going on?

01:57:03 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so.

01:57:04 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 5:

Maybe. Do you guys wear excessively tight pants to show off your hold? I try.

01:57:08 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 2:

I'd have to wear really excessively tight pants.

01:57:12 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 1:

Maybe dudes who wear, like, super tight shirts.

01:57:15 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. But what are they showing off, though?

01:57:17 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 1:

Maybe abs or something.

01:57:19 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:57:19 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I'll tell you, if I pull up with a six-pack, I'm telling you I'm wearing tight shirts. You are. I'm telling you right now. I'm wearing two small white tees. Y'all gonna see these.

01:57:29 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to be like, what was the guy's name? What the hell is that guy's name that's in SWAT? Shamar Moore? Shamar Moore. You're going to be like Shamar Moore?

01:57:39 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 1:

And I'm tucking my pants in. Isn't he recently single?

01:57:41 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Shelly? Hi.

01:57:43 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 1:

It's yours, yes. Good morning. How are you guys?

01:57:45 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:57:46 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. You're so dumb.

01:57:48 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:57:49 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, just working, you know. Okay. So I feel in that situation, I agree with Kevin 100%. I feel like people that wear those types of clothing, they're made to show off that part of their body. And if they get upset that people looked at them, then that's their fault. That's how I feel.

01:58:09 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And do you wear outfits like this or no?

01:58:12 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. I'm way too big for that.

01:58:15 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 2:

Listen, you show off what you got. Okay? Be happy. This morning, we've talked to so many people that are talking about being happy with themselves. We've got to be happy with ourselves, Shelly.

01:58:25 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 5:

I lost 120-something pounds. Yes, let's go, Shelly. Show it off, girl.

01:58:30 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 2:

Shelly, Shelly.

01:58:31 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 5:

I know. I know. I feel that way. I work out in the gym, too.

01:58:36 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 2:

Good for you.

01:58:37 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 5:

When I see people come in there like that with those shorts that Shannon was talking about, or those pants that Shannon was talking about, I'm like, what in the world? I feel like I had a wedgie all day and want to pull it out.

01:58:48 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 2:

I love you, Shelly. Thanks for calling.

01:58:50 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 5:

I love you guys. We'll talk to you later. Have a good day. See you.

01:58:54 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Listen to Jessica. Jessica has the guy's version of this. What's the guy's version, Jessica?

01:58:59 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, guys most certainly do do it. That's why they have gray sweatpants season. That is true.

01:59:05 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 2:

Gray sweatpants season. I remember Mike used to wear gray sweatpants all the time, and I used to say to him all the time, I'm like, you are just trying to show that thing off, aren't you?

01:59:14 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 4:

That is correct. That is most definitely true.

01:59:18 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 2:

Do you like the look of the bulge on a man?

01:59:23 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

It does depend on what they're wearing. Definitely not no jean bulge, but the gray sweatpants bulge is wonderful.

01:59:31 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 2:

You're good. Okay. All right. Thank you. Wonderful. What's up, Maxwell? How you doing?

01:59:36 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 3:

Maxwell? I'm doing great this morning. Yes. How you guys doing? Good. What's happening?

01:59:41 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 1:

I love your songs.

01:59:42 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time.

01:59:44 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Maxwell on the phone.

01:59:47 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to make a comment on the girls and their crop tops. Yeah. I'm a guy that wears the gray sweatpants, and I like my balls and my briefs.

01:59:58 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Show those things off.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh, and you also are cool with girls looking at you, aren't you?

02:00:04 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 4:

I want them to look. That's the whole point of wearing sweatpants.

02:00:07 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Are they allowed to touch, too, or no, Maxwell?

02:00:10 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

No, see, that's where we draw the line with this conversation.

02:00:13 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, no. No touching. I've got a girl, so we're not doing that.

02:00:18 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 6:

All right, good man. Good man. Your girl's probably listening right now going, that was a good answer. Got that one answer right on his text. Tiana, what's up? I got just a couple seconds here before I got to go.

02:00:29 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 1:

what's going on hey so i feel like if you're wearing something that's revealing period you should expect attention no matter who it's from and looks be very clear about it's if someone

02:00:43 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

looks at you i mean that's you know you you wore it out anything more than that is not okay so you

02:00:50 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

can't say anything i feel like if it was if it was a weird look then i can understand that but But just like a, you know.

02:00:59 - 02:00:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:01:00 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 6:

I don't think Kev did anything wrong unless Kev did what I think he does.

02:01:03 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 3:

Like if you went over and, like, poked her belly button. Yeah, that's not okay.

02:01:06 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 6:

No, you know what Kev does? Because you know how he is with us? He probably did one of his grunts. Or, mm, mm. I don't know.

02:01:13 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 5:

I can't confirm or deny.

02:01:15 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 6:

He did his spitting and grin and, mm. It's like he has, I'm telling you, we're going to do that. Zach, you got to pull that for me. I want to do the contest. Name Kev's grunt. Like, what was the thing? But he does that. Like, dang. Where it just randomly just, like, throws out a grunt. And your grunts go, oh, okay, Kevin's awake. He's here today. He's awake.

02:01:36 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 4:

All right. Cheating is a choice, not a mistake. Don't be fooled. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:01:45 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 6:

It was a heartbreaking War of the Roses. You'll hear that coming up here in just a little bit. Or if you don't have time, go listen to the podcast of it. It's Mojo in the Morning. I will give you a chance to win Katy Perry tickets. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548, the 95th caller.

02:02:02 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:02:05 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Shannon and the Dirty on the 30?

02:02:07 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, the NBA trading deadline is today at 3 p.m. Thank you, Kev, for that information. You are my source here. Yesterday, the Miami Heat traded Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors as part of a multi-team mega deal. And am I right when I saw this video, It was a fan that informed the heat bench of that trade yesterday. A fan.

02:02:29 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 5:

We got Kyle Anderson, Dennis Schroeder, and Andrew Wiggins.

02:02:33 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 4:

Okay. We robbed them. First time, they're protected. Okay, I thought it was going to first time agree. No, they didn't get out of the air, no.

02:02:42 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Crazy. So as part of the agreement, he's going to decline his 52 million player option for the next season. He's planning to sign a new two-year, $111 million deal that carries through the 2026-27 season. And then in other NBA trade dirty, Gardlindy Waters, excuse me, the third, going to go from Golden State to the Pistons. And Josh Richardson will go from Miami and come to Detroit.

02:03:09 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 6:

Is that a good trade for the Golden State Warriors? Did Jimmy Butler help those guys?

02:03:13 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 5:

I think he helps them defensively. He brings a certain toughness to the Warriors that maybe Andrew Wiggins and the other players who were there who are no longer there no longer have. It was a lot of trades that happened. Shannon mentioned a trade deadline. For us, though, with Lindy Waters, we also signed Kenyon Martin Jr. from the Philadelphia 76ers. And like Shannon mentioned, we signed Josh Richardson. We're now over the limit of the amount of players that you can have on a roster. So we aren't done. So I feel like we'll have an announcement at some point today, like you mentioned. We're getting rid of the trade. Yeah, something's going to happen.

02:03:47 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 6:

So I saw that Kevin Durant was going to go back to the Golden State Warriors, and he didn't want to.

02:03:52 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:03:53 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 6:

And they were saying that he had no choice, that they were going to possibly trade him back, but this obviously keeps him from going back to the Warriors. Is he old?

02:03:59 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 5:

Well, he's in his mid-30s, but he's still one of the top, I would say, 10, 15 players in the league.

02:04:04 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 6:

I would take him on the Pistons. Could you imagine if the Pistons could get him?

02:04:07 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm so mad because I sent this to the group chat, and surprise, surprise, ignored. But I had a girl who explained that one trade that was trending this whole weekend by saying it was like if One Direction was in their peak and they got rid of Harry Styles for Kevin Jonas. Can you start explaining basketball like that?

02:04:25 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 6:

That's actually a great way to explain it.

02:04:27 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 2:

I did not understand how big of a trade this was this past weekend. I kept being like, I don't get it. And you're all like, it's a big deal.

02:04:33 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:04:33 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what's going on? That's actually a really great analogy.

02:04:37 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 6:

We should do a boy band trade. Wouldn't it be great if you could trade amongst boy bands like that?

02:04:41 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. Okay, so it would be like if it's 98 degrees, are they, like, super big? No. I mean, back in the day, they were okay. Those were the big boys, man.

02:04:50 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Like, is Kevin Durant Justin Timberlake, or is he, like, a...

02:04:55 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 5:

He's a Justin Timberlake. Yeah.

02:04:57 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, a Post Malone. Yeah. He's a Justin Timberlake. He's a Justin Timberlake.

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

He's a Justin Timberlake.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 3:

Luka Dodson is just in Timberlake.

02:05:02 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Gotcha. Speaking of the Jonas Brothers, by the way, randomly, that's a great segue into this story. There was like a Camp Rock trivia night happening at a bar in Toronto the other day. Like, so random. Can you imagine the screams when the actual Jonas Brothers walked into this bar in Toronto?

02:05:25 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

So, we just finished work today. I'm going to be in town recording some music, so they hopped on over to that bar.

02:05:45 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Giselle Bündchen, big congrats to her this morning. She has welcomed her first child with her jujitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquin Valente. I have to say that so slow because that word just trips me up so bad. But it is her third child. She does share a daughter and a son and a stepson, really, with her ex-husband, Tom Brady. And Mojo, this morning when I was talking about that, he's like, I feel like that's really fast. They just got divorced. They've actually been divorced for over two years. But they have been officially dating Giselle and Joaquin for like a year and a half now. We don't know the name or the sex of the little one just yet. And lastly, law enforcement is giving you the chance to put your ex behind bars this Valentine's Day. California's Visalia Police Department is among them. Sharing on social media last night, roses are red, violets are blue. Your ex has felony warrants? Call us. They'll never know it was you. And if you live outside of the Visalia area, you can still do this. Report your ex just in time for February 14th by calling your local police department's non-emergency line, giving them all the info.

02:06:55 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 4:

It'll be a happy Valentine's Day to you. That's a great topic. We've got to write that down, Lydia, for a topic. How many people have turned in somebody? An ex. An ex because they didn't like them. That'd be great.

02:07:06 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 2:

If you like this weather, come on over here so I can give you a face wash. This is Mojo in the Morning. mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 what's going on shannon and the dirty on the 30 well the nba

02:08:20 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 2:

trading deadline is today at 3 p.m thank you kev for that information you are my source here yesterday the miami heat traded jimmy butler to the golden state warriors as part of a multi-team mega deal and is it am i right in when i saw this video it was a fan that informed the heat bench of that trade yesterday. A fan.

02:08:41 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

We've got Kyle Anderson, Dennis Schroeder, and Andrew Wiggins. We robbed them. First time, protect them. They didn't get out the air.

02:08:55 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 2:

Crazy. So as part of the agreement, he's going to decline his 52 million player option for the next season. He's planning to sign a new two-year $111 million deal that carries through the 2026-26 season and then in other nba trade dirty guard lindy walter waters excuse me the third gonna go from golden state to the pistons and josh richardson will go from miami and come to

02:09:21 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 4:

is that a good trade for the golden state warriors did jimmy butler help those guys

02:09:26 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

i think he helps them defensively he brings a certain toughness to the warriors that maybe andrew wiggins and the other players who were there who are no longer there no longer have they also it was a lot of trades that happened shannon mentioned a trade deadline For us, though, with Lindy Waters, we also signed Kenyon Martin Jr. from the Philadelphia 76ers. And like Shannon mentioned, we signed Josh Richardson. We're now over the limit of the amount of players that you can have on a roster. So we aren't done. So I feel like we'll have an announcement at some point today, like you mentioned. We're getting rid of the trade. Yeah, something's going to happen.

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 4:

So I saw that Kevin Durant was going to go back to the Golden State Warriors, and he didn't want to.

02:10:05 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:10:05 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 4:

And they were saying that he had no choice, that they were going to possibly trade him back, but this obviously keeps him from going back to the Warriors. Is he old?

02:10:12 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, he's in his mid-30s, but he's still one of the top, I would say, 10, 15 players in the league.

02:10:17 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 4:

I would take him on the Pistons. Could you imagine if the Pistons could get him?

02:10:20 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm so mad because I sent this to the group chat, and surprise, surprise, ignored. But I had a girl who explained that one trade that was trending this whole weekend by saying it was like if One Direction was in their peak and they got rid of Harry Styles for Kevin Jonas. Can you start explaining basketball like that?

02:10:38 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 4:

That's actually a great way to explain it.

02:10:39 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 2:

I did not understand how big of a trade this was this past weekend. I kept being like, I don't get it. And you're all like, it's a big deal.

02:10:45 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:10:46 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what's going on? That's actually a really great analogy.

02:10:49 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 4:

We should do a boy band trade. Wouldn't it be great if you could trade amongst boy bands like that?

02:10:54 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. Okay, so it would be like if, is 98 Degrees, are they like super big? No. I mean, back in the day, they were okay. Those were the big boys, man.

02:11:03 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 2:

Like, is Kevin Durant Justin Timberlake, or is he like a...

02:11:08 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 3:

He's a Justin Timberlake. Yeah.

02:11:09 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 2:

Okay, a Post Malone.

02:11:11 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:11:11 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 2:

He's a Justin Timberlake. Well, a Post Malone. Yeah.

02:11:13 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 3:

Luka Dodgers is Justin Timberlake.

02:11:15 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Gotcha. Speaking of the Jonas Brothers, by the way, randomly, that's a great segment of this story, Um, there was like a Camp Rock trivia night happening at a bar in Toronto the other day. Like, so random. Can you imagine the screams when the actual Jonas Brothers walked into this bar in Toronto?

02:11:38 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 5:

So, we just finished work today. I'm working on it. I look online and there's some Camp Rock one and two trivia night going on. Good for you. This is so fun. I hope the best table wins.

02:11:54 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 1:

Just happen to be in town recording some music, so they hopped on over to that bar. Giselle Bündchen, big congrats to her this morning. She has welcomed her first child with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquin Valente. I have to say that so slow because that word just trips me up so bad. But it is her third child. We've got to write that down, Lydia, for a topic. How many people have turned in somebody an ex because they didn't like them? That'd be great.

02:13:43 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 2:

The War of the Roses.

02:13:45 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 5:

On Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:46 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So Valentine's Day is next week? Are you kidding me? Yay. I know, I know. I get it. You know what? I'm good with you, though. I'm in a relationship, and I say, yay, Valentine's Day. All right, I got a hot take, and I want to ask this question. I want to ask the listeners to weigh in on this one. a female friend told me that she thinks that valentine's day is for the guys that guys she says that guys are to buy their girls valentine's gifts it's not for the girls to get them valentine's like valentine's day is not a and i guess i don't know uh what kind of relationship you're in but um it you don't see men uh women buying men valentine's gifts it's usually the guy buys the valentine's gifts yeah and i said that's not fair first off that is discriminatory

02:14:46 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 2:

y'all don't acknowledge that i agree but yeah have a day so dumb get mad at sweetest day when

02:14:55 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 4:

people don't practice it don't get mad because it exists do you guys think that valentine's

02:15:00 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Valentine's Day is a day that is for equal. Like, if you're in a same-sex relationship, what do you do? That means that, what, gay dudes don't have Valentine's Day at all?

02:15:13 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Are people celebrating Valentine's Day? I swear Valentine's Day has gone, like, I like Valentine's Day because I think it's cute for the kids. I think Valentine's Day is all about the kids. If you have kids, it's like, and now, you guys know this because I've talked about it for every holiday. there's like a basket and now it's the love basket and it's got slippers and pjs and candy and little like i feel like valentine's day is for the kids i did buy wes a card and that's it

02:15:38 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 5:

like i don't i'm not doing a gift i feel like valentine's day is like halloween where kids get into it and then there's couples costumes for halloweens and there's some couples that participate as adults in valentine's day but like overall it's not wholly celebrated by everybody

02:15:54 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 4:

Like, I think it's cute if you celebrate it with your significant other. I love that for you, but I think that, like, especially the women that expect a dozen long-stemmed red roses from rosesbloom.com on Valentine's Day is, like, wrong, wrong.

02:16:10 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 5:

I get it for, like, if you have kids, and this is a great reminder for you to go have, like, a special date night. Like, I get that, but overall, if I was just dating somebody right now, it would be, like, you could come over and watch a movie, and we can get a bag of candy. Yeah, but, like.

02:16:24 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 2:

I think there are a few things. I think, one, it proves how much smarter women are than men that we've been tricked into this belief that we're just supposed to shower our women with all these trinkets and tokens and love and to show our appreciation. I do. Trinked? Yeah, for real. Because it's this wild-ass American-marketed holiday where you're just supposed to spend a bunch of money to show somebody that you love them like you're not supposed to show them every day that you love them. Oh, I agree with you there. Do you know it's actually a religious thing?

02:16:53 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 3:

No. it's saint valentine's day yeah yeah so it's actually considered a religious thing he's right

02:16:58 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 5:

it became a commercial hallmark holiday it is bs i think it's the stupidest holiday ever but i

02:17:04 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 4:

understand why some people like it i think it's a very cutesy holiday and if you celebrate it together i love that for you i love all that sappy stuff it's just the expectation sometimes gets me

02:17:13 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 3:

yes sweetest day sweetest day to me has ruined even valentine's day because before sweetest day was a thing, which, by the way, Sweetest Day is only a thing here because of Saunders. No, it's October 15th or something like that. Okay, yeah. I think it was, it wasn't Saunders Hot Fudge or whatever it was. Yes, it was. They came up with the whole idea of Sweetest Day, and then it became a thing kind of in a couple of different places, and then if you mention Sweetest Day to somebody in like Portland, Oregon, they're going to say to you, what are you talking about? Alright, yeah, go ahead. Do you think it's

02:17:46 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 5:

fair that, I've brought up, like, men are expected to shower their women in gifts. I feel like women are expected to like engage in sexual activities too like i i feel like there's

02:17:56 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 3:

expectations on both parties in different ways i you know what honestly i uh i don't think like first off i think that married couples usually early on celebrate it and then as time goes on to me it's just an annoyance because it was just christmas and i just got done doing all that stuff but um but i do uh i do agree that most guys are giving good gifts because they're hoping that they're going to get their gift later that evening. But Jennifer, what are your thoughts? Hi.

02:18:24 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. Good morning. Good morning. My fiance and I have been together for four years, and I buy him gifts. Like, I already ordered him a bunch of different stuff. And, yeah, it's not, like, a lot. Just, like, cute little things, like little boxers that have, like, hearts on them and stuff like that. Just, I don't know.

02:18:46 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 3:

cutesy nerdy stuff so so you you get him some some things but he's getting you diamonds and things like that like i think the guys are getting screwed out of this whole deal you know

02:18:58 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 1:

no no i don't want diamonds i like cutesy stuff too like pajamas and like a little stuffed animal and some chocolates like we don't go like big it's not crazy it's just like how shana was explaining like the cutesy little baskets like we do that for each other like i don't want a lot like we've been together for four years it's like we're good i got the ring that's all i wanted

02:19:20 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 3:

because i listen to the commercials that are on the radio you know for the jewelry stores and you know or even like the department stores and it's all guys get your girl it's always that's what

02:19:32 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 4:

i feel like i need to make a psa same if you are going if you have it in your heart to go to lucido and buy something amazing for your girlfriend or wife, not both, then by all means.

02:19:45 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 3:

No, buy your girlfriend and wife.

02:19:47 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 4:

By all means.

02:19:48 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you, though?

02:19:49 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

It will be lovingly accepted. So I work with a different jeweler. I work with Jay Foster Jewelers. And in my commercial, I literally say, treat yourself, these are great deals. Like, take advantage of the great deals.

02:20:00 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 7:

something nice for yourself just because it's valentine's day doesn't mean you have to be a

02:20:03 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 2:

couple to get this deal i like stacy's take because she's reminding us that valentine's day is for the girls what's the day for the guys stacy well sweetest day is the proper one but

02:20:17 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 4:

march 14th is also a very special day for the men you know what that is don't you anybody know

02:20:23 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 2:

what that is yes do you participate stacy in the steak in the bj day i do do you by the way do you really do you really like the idea that your guy is uh has just eaten a steak that night when you're doing because you know as long as he's showered i'm done okay all right by the way stacy is i got

02:20:46 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 1:

a question got a lucky guy you've never heard of that no i got questions i have can't be answered

02:20:51 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 2:

No, we'll talk about that in the podcast. Eric, what's going on? How you doing?

02:20:57 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm good. How are you guys today?

02:20:58 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. Get ready, buddy. Valentine's Day is coming.

02:21:02 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, listen, I already got everything already. My wife and I, we've been together for 12 years, married for two, and very early on in our relationship, we made it a thing that, hey, you know, Valentine's Day, I agree with Kevin, it's a monetary trap. So we never participated in that. So what I do every year is we spend time, and I give her one single rose. It's like one of those wooden forever roses or whatever. It's like one of those cutesy things or whatever. So we just do that. Okay. Turns out even those are a scam. They don't actually last forever. After seven years, they start to lose their color, so they just start yellow. Oh, no.

02:21:46 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

My big thing with Valentine's Day that sucks, and this year it sucks even more because it's a good Valentine's Day. It's on a weekend. I hate that you can't get a reservation anywhere. Like, it's near and popular. Because it brings out everybody to go out.

02:22:00 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 1:

It's like church on Easter. Right. He starts showing up when he's been here in 10 years. Exactly.

02:22:04 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they'll make dinner at home. Make dinner at home. Spend time there. They'll do that.

02:22:08 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 2:

DoorDash is also, by the way, they do peak charging on Valentine's Day. Because there's a lot of people doing that.

02:22:15 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to take the conversation in a different direction, but he brought up an interesting point. What do you do when you enter a relationship and you have the thought that it's a Hallmark holiday, but the other person cares so much? Why are you asking?

02:22:24 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 7:

You got to do it for them. If you care about them and they care about it, you got to care about them having their special moment.

02:22:31 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 2:

Or you make them have to explain themselves. Like, it's kind of like before you get your degree, you have to do your dissertation or something. Like, they have to do a dissertation. Jamal, what's up?

02:22:43 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 6:

You didn't answer my question, by the way. Hey, first off, first time, long time. Jamal's on the phone.

02:22:48 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 5:

I won't forget.

02:22:51 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Jamal. How are you guys doing? Good, buddy. What's going on?

02:22:56 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 2:

We're talking about...

02:22:57 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 6:

I listen to you guys almost every morning. Hell yeah. Almost. I'm on the road all the time, so I'm just always listening to you guys. Beep, beep. I love you, man.

02:23:04 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, buddy. Thank you.

02:23:06 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you're the man.

02:23:07 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 2:

We appreciate it. What about... Are you buying me something for Valentine's Day, Jamal?

02:23:12 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 6:

Valentine's... Man, you'll be the best Valentine's, I bet.

02:23:15 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you, buddy.

02:23:16 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 6:

I bet you would give me something in return.

02:23:18 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 2:

Ah, steak and a BJ day

02:23:20 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 6:

I have never gotten my return on Valentine's Day Every relationship I have been in They have never acknowledged Swedish Day Aw Yeah

02:23:29 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 2:

You're with the wrong women, man You need better women

02:23:34 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I know, right? Yeah, I know These women out here, man It's hard It's hard out here right now

02:23:40 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Jamal, you deserve better You deserve better It's time for you to cross that line It's time for you to go to men

02:23:46 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 7:

Hard to be a man I think, by the way No, hell no.

02:23:49 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

I've said this. No, I've said this. If it wasn't for sex, I would be with just guys because I like enjoying being with guys. I like my buddies. You know what I mean? But sex is involved and I haven't.

02:24:01 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 7:

Have you ever given it a shot though? Maybe you don't know.

02:24:04 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

I have to be honest with you. I've often thought and wondered what it would be like. And then I, you know.

02:24:10 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 7:

Hey, it's a spectrum. Is it? It's a spectrum.

02:24:13 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:24:14 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 7:

Give it a shot.

02:24:15 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 2:

Jamal, I'll talk to you later. What's up, Megan? How you doing?

02:24:20 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. How are you?

02:24:21 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's happening?

02:24:24 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 3:

Not much. I'm on my way to work.

02:24:26 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? We're talking about Valentine's Day, and we're asking, is it just for the girls?

02:24:33 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 3:

I would say yes. However, I'm in a same-sex relationship.

02:24:37 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:24:39 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 3:

And she celebrates Valentine's for me, and I celebrate Sweetest Day for her. Oh, that's a good way to divide it up.

02:24:45 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 2:

And how did you guys decide on that?

02:24:47 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we split it up, yeah.

02:24:48 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 2:

Was that something that...

02:24:49 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we split it up, so it worked.

02:24:50 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That's actually not a bad idea.

02:24:52 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Also, first time, long time. Hey! It's on the phone!

02:24:56 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah! Can I ask a question?

02:24:58 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:24:59 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 3:

Is she more masculine than you? Is that why she get the Sweeties Day?

02:25:05 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

She is, yes.

02:25:05 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I like it.

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 4:

Yep, she is.

02:25:08 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 3:

So what do you get her? Do you get her like Carhartt stuff or what do you get her?

02:25:12 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 4:

Usually I get her like some boxers that she likes and maybe like a necklace or like some little stud earrings or something like that.

02:25:23 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

Studs. And then what does she get you? Does she get you all the silky stuff?

02:25:27 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, like pajamas. She might get me, like, a charm for my Pandora or, like, some earrings or something like that. And then we also do a little something for our son as well. Oh, sweet.

02:25:38 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, happy Valentine's Day, Megan. And what's her name? What's your lovely lady's name?

02:25:44 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 4:

Her name is Meek.

02:25:45 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 3:

Meek. Megan and Meek sitting in a tree.

02:25:48 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 4:

That's right.

02:25:49 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 3:

Eek, eek, eek. That's right. I-N-G. Exactly. Have a great Valentine's Day. We love you.

02:25:55 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 2:

What is wrong with you? You, too. Love you, too.

02:25:57 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 3:

I am so... You know what it is? I think it was I almost killed myself on the ice this morning, and I barely made it. I'm like, God, thank you. I'm alive.

02:26:05 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 2:

WQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:26:20 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're giving you a chance to win $1,000. We're paying your bills after War of the Roses.

02:26:25 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:26:31 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Jennifer.

02:26:33 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:26:34 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 3:

So you think your husband is cheating. He's one of those guys that plays with his phone a lot. Like he's doing stuff on his phone and then he's secretive with the phone. Real quick, before you tell us some of the stuff you have, you actually caught him in something you thought with the phone and he started running away from you with the phone?

02:26:55 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm. Yeah.

02:26:56 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't even think we need to make a call on War of the Roses.

02:27:00 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 1:

How do you make an excuse for that behavior?

02:27:03 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's something even more suspicious than that. What was it that you just recently saw?

02:27:10 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 5:

I saw a text message to this girl, Danielle, like asking him for $50.

02:27:16 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 3:

Do we know who Danielle is?

02:27:18 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 1:

No idea. And no other text in that chain? Just that one?

02:27:22 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 5:

it was weird because there weren't enough it didn't make sense so i do think it was like he deleted previous messages you know what i mean so you're reading through and it doesn't

02:27:33 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 3:

seem like it matches up but she's asking for 50 what was his response to her wanting 50 bucks he hadn't responded yet okay or he deleted the response or he's responding in person or over the phone yeah um yeah all those and you don't know any danielle's at all you have no clue who

02:27:53 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 5:

this person might be no it's also spelled a way that i've never seen so it's not like d-a-n-y-e-l-l-e

02:28:03 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 3:

definitely don't know a danielle like that okay um has he ever cheated on you before do we have

02:28:09 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 5:

a repeat cheater here no just suspicious stuff of the phone like i said have you ever gotten to a

02:28:18 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 3:

point where you've wanted to do something like this or try to set him up to think he's cheating

02:28:24 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 5:

not this far but i definitely like this isn't the first time i've looked at his phone because i feel suspicious so i know this is the first time i'm like taking it to you guys This feels like a big deal.

02:28:36 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

All right. How long have you guys been married? About three years. How many kids do you guys have?

02:28:43 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 5:

We have two.

02:28:45 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

Wow. All right. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We're hoping that he sends them to Jennifer. It's the Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses. Can you mute your phone?

02:28:57 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:28:58 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 3:

All right. Mute it. And let's call. Here we go.

02:29:04 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 1:

hello hi is this tim yeah hi hi tim my name is nicole i'm calling from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers if you have less than a minute to answer some survey questions we're going to give you a dozen uh long-stemmed red roses that can be be sent out today to the person of your choice anywhere in the country completely free of charge to you so i'm wondering if you have a minute to get some free flowers uh it's just two questions it's it'll be super quick sorry how'd you how did you get my info we basically buy lists from other companies being transparent um two questions let me ask you the first question okay have you Purchase flowers in the last... months tim uh no and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months no probably not okay as a thank you for participating in that survey you're done by the way that was it um i'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long stemmed red roses which again will go out today or any other day that you want to specify but usually we send them out same day um do you have somebody in mind that you'd like to send some flowers to

02:30:30 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 2:

um wait you don't need my credit card or anything right nope no i'm gonna need some

02:30:37 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 1:

info about who these are going to starting with a first and a last name and a few other things but no no credit card or anything like that they really are truly free

02:30:48 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, um, yeah, I guess let's, let's send them to, uh, Danielle.

02:31:03 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, how do you spell that?

02:31:06 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 2:

D-A-N-Y-E-L-L-E.

02:31:13 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and a last name?

02:31:16 - 02:31:17 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:31:17 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 1:

okay and what is her phone number uh it's one six four okay and what's her relationship to you that's my girlfriend okay and Tim we do something unique at rosesbloom.com instead of sending a paper card with the flowers Danielle in this case is going to receive a text message alerting her that she has a delivery and there's also going to be a voice note attached to it and that voice note is in lieu of the paper card so I'm going to record that here with you you can make it as long or short as you want say anything you want but that's what she's going to play to know who the flowers are from. Does that make sense? Sure. Okay. I'm going to count you down and then you just go ahead and talk. Three, two, one. Hey baby, I'll see you next week. Okay. And Tim, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah, that's fine. Great. Tim, I'm going to wrap up the

02:32:35 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 2:

call by coming on and getting all the information to you and then we'll hang up the phone but first I wanted to let you know that there's one more thing that we didn't tell you and that is while you were sending these flowers off to Danielle that your wife Jennifer was listening in and just heard you send flowers to another woman

02:32:58 - 02:33:02 | Unknown:

wait

02:33:02 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 2:

what Tim, your wife, Jennifer, called up to Mojo on the morning show and was suspicious that you were cheating on her and her suspicions came true. Tim there's no joke here the joke wouldn't be funny especially to Jennifer who just heard you send flowers to another woman call her your girlfriend and then say that you're getting together again with her next week. Jennifer?

02:33:54 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah?

02:33:57 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 2:

Not funny, is it?

02:33:59 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 3:

No. I can't believe this right now.

02:34:11 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 2:

Tim, you have two kids and a wife.

02:34:16 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Are you going to say something? I don't even know. No, you know what? I don't want to hear it. I can't do this.

02:34:31 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to... Jennifer, I'm going to stop this right now because I don't want to do this to you.

02:34:38 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:34:39 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer. I'm terrible. I'm terrible. Hang on one second.

02:34:46 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 3:

02:36:14 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:21 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 1:

I was in the morning, War of the Roses, heartbreaking to hear Jennifer's reaction to finding out that her husband and father of her kids sends flowers to another woman and then he completely goes silent.

02:37:03 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 2:

i don't i don't even know what to say right now

02:37:08 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 3:

if i was in my mouth i'm just i i'm gonna i'm gonna cuss so much and say things i'll i just can't do this right now i'm so i'm so devastated

02:37:26 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 1:

tim i don't think that there's anything that you can say other than just trying to figure your out all right we're the roses here on the mojo in the morning show comments on this one interesting her reasoning why she thought he was cheating uh the idea that she saw something on his phone but also the idea that he was like running out of the room with his phone which to me is always interesting has anybody ever experienced that at all in dating or in a relationship where their significant other just is so weird with their phone uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number uh chauncey wants to make a comment we'll go through

02:38:14 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 2:

some comments first chauncey what's up uh yeah i'd like to make a comment um you know he didn't even have the audacity to say anything and then he made a commitment before god you know to um be faithful and to me i think he he's not even responsible enough to have that thing down there

02:38:34 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 1:

i think he should become a eunuch well i don't know if you can necessarily make that uh happen but that's an interesting thought i wonder if that's an option uh but uh thank you for the

02:38:44 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 3:

call chauncey i think lydia by the way uh no i didn't know he was gonna say that i was like

02:38:52 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 1:

uh joe what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi

02:38:57 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 5:

first of all jennifer you are so much better off without him go get him for everything he's worth second of all as a married man and father this was the best part of my morning hearing this douchebag get caught he was so slick with the oh i'll see you next week baby and then when you said your wife is on the phone what what oh no i don't know what to say he's sorry that he did it he's

02:39:26 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 1:

sorry that he got caught good call joe thanks buddy i appreciate it lydia redeemed herself

02:39:31 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 5:

with you we love you too man god he's got a lot also weird to air horn during a war of the roses

02:39:43 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 1:

yeah so rosie is next rosie what's going on it's mojo in the morning show where are the roses

02:39:48 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

hi good morning um i was saying he definitely had no regrets or remorse because when he was asked like about the relationship to the woman he said girlfriend.

02:40:00 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 7:

instantly so he clearly wasn't thinking about his wife nor his kids and in my head she should just divorce him because he has no respect for her and that's a terrible thing for him to do and i agree with the previous caller he's only sorry he got caught yeah it's it's tough it was tough to listen

02:40:19 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 2:

to i have to tell you some more of the roses you're listening to them and you know that the person that is doing the checking up is a has strength to be able to just you know beat the crap out of that person this one here is a heartbreaking one and you and i feel bad if i almost wonder if i would have ever wanted to do it if i knew that jennifer was in the condition that she was in but it's understandable and i think sometimes we have to hear that uh sometimes you know you have to hear that not just a bunch of women who are yelling and screaming at or guys yelling and screaming at the person that cheated on them um because it's real that you know these you know situations you get hurt and it breaks the family what's up landon how you doing hi we're talking about this crazy thing with his phone what happened with you landon

02:41:06 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 5:

so my ex-girlfriend would go through my phone um which i had nothing to hide but when it came to

02:41:14 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 2:

her phone i was invading her privacy ah so there's a double standard what was what was the the case there why was she not wanting you to invade her privacy because she was texting other

02:41:26 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 3:

men okay now was that the whole relationship that was her stance or did that kind of develop

02:41:31 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 5:

because if that develops that's a clear red flag um it developed over the last few months of our

02:41:38 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

relationship don't you get the feeling though that the reason why she wanted to go through your phone is the guilt that she had yep yeah i do feel that way yeah like knew all of this

02:41:49 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 1:

the spots where stuff could be you know shady and hidden yeah she she was obviously projecting

02:41:54 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 2:

her guilt onto you and thinking that you were doing something wrong uh robert what's up it's

02:42:00 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning hi hey good morning guys what's going on good morning so he was like uh he was like deer in headlights even if he had anything to save in the relationship he would have said at least one word in all the previous four of the roses someone talks or tries to explain but he was just like i think he just has given up on the relationship and not saying anyone's fault i think he's just not compatible or strong enough to have a relationship i wonder

02:42:32 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 2:

if that's the case like i wonder if the guy's given up or he's wanting the best of all worlds you know sometimes sometimes you you you know you do give up but uh it's it's i don't know What do you think the $50 was? We haven't touched on that. What do you guys think the $50 was that she was asking for? And why such a small amount that she was asking for?

02:42:53 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 1:

And also, don't you just send a Venmo request? Yeah. There's so many weird little questions with that.

02:42:59 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Alicia?

02:43:01 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

02:43:02 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Alicia. What do you think the $50 was?

02:43:07 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 6:

There's no telling at that point, but he probably cash-apped it.

02:43:10 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 2:

You think? You think it was just sending it through some kind of a cash app?

02:43:15 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 6:

It could be. He probably didn't even respond if he just sent it through.

02:43:18 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, that's a good point. But I'm wondering, like, why $50? And then why was he deleting certain text messages, like she said? She felt like it was kind of jumbled as far as how the messages were from this girl. What was her name? Danielle? Yes. What did you want to call for, Alicia? What were you going to say before I asked you that question?

02:43:41 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 6:

You had asked the question about people running out of the room with their phones when you catch them.

02:43:45 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:43:46 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 6:

So I went through my husband's phone while he was in the shower. He realized what I was doing, came out of the shower, grabbed it from me, went downstairs, and because I wouldn't let it go because I'd already seen it, took his phone and smashed it in half on his knee so that I couldn't read the text message.

02:44:00 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:44:02 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 6:

Innocent behavior. Oh, yeah, absolutely.

02:44:05 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 2:

Did we find out what he was doing?

02:44:07 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 3:

he was cheating on me with a co-worker you said husband though that it wasn't past tense are you

02:44:14 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 6:

still with him oh no we're still together we we ended up working through it he no longer works there because that was that deal and so and we're still working through it for the most part and

02:44:24 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 2:

does he give you access to his phone anytime you want it oh unlimited yeah if i even because i'm

02:44:30 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 6:

still not over it if i even have an inkling i just can i have your phone and he hands it over

02:44:34 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 2:

How long ago was this?

02:44:38 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 6:

Three or four months ago.

02:44:39 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

02:44:40 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 6:

This is so nice.

02:44:41 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 2:

Is it hard for him to find a job when you said, hey, he's got to get a new job?

02:44:47 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 6:

He went and found another job doing the same thing, but it was a while there because of a reputation. It's a small town. Wow.

02:44:55 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, good luck. Keep us up to date on what goes on, Alicia, okay?

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 6:

Check the notes app.

02:45:00 - 02:45:01 | Speaker 4:

That's the new place to do it.

02:45:01 - 02:45:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:45:02 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 3:

Seriously. Don't be giving out a secret.

02:45:04 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 7:

Brittany, what's going on?

02:45:07 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:45:08 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Brittany.

02:45:09 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 3:

So my ex-fiance, he used to sleep with his phone under his pillow. He used to lock his phone. He used to sit on the couch and would sit the opposite direction of me just so I couldn't see what he was doing on his phone or his laptop. um he was dumb so i clearly was able to figure out his password because it's his birthday and i could see him that he text he texts this other girl he was texting her good morning texting her throughout the day when i confronted him he got mad and he actually um of course denied it all which you can't because i can i seen it and he even broke his laptop

02:45:50 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 7:

These people do. I don't think he's guilty at all. That's amazing.

02:45:54 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 3:

No, no, he wasn't at all. Nope, nope.

02:45:56 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 7:

That guy has every base covered, and you do too. You got through all of that. You're not, man.

02:46:02 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 4:

I really want to know when he charged his phone, if he slept with it under his pillow.

02:46:06 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

I think he did, I think he charged his at work.

02:46:09 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 7:

The interesting thing was that you were, you said fiance, you were going to get married to this guy. Like he was going to marry you even though he was doing all this other crap.

02:46:17 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 3:

yeah actually we had our wedding date planned everything was paid for the venue everything and um yeah i i started to connect the dots and um i just kind of realized this isn't the type of person that i wanted to have children with and grow old with and i i cut it off good for you

02:46:38 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 7:

thank you britney thank you for the call sorry about that tyler thinks that uh tyler knows exactly what the $50 was for. What is it for, Tyler?

02:46:48 - 02:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, how's it going, guys? First time calling a long time later.

02:46:51 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Tyler. Boom, boom, boom, boom.

02:46:54 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 2:

So, I mean, I've had my fair share of $50 in relationships, and it could be gas, but I'm going with a plan B for this one.

02:47:03 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

02:47:05 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 2:

I never thought of that.

02:47:06 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 7:

Damn, are you? They bought $40, $50?

02:47:08 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 2:

Yep, and they're linking up this week.

02:47:11 - 02:47:13 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Oh, my God.

02:47:13 - 02:47:13 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:47:14 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, with that one. That's crazy. All right, well, thank you for your detective work. We appreciate it, Tyler.

02:47:20 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 5:

The home of the second date update.

02:47:21 - 02:47:22 | Unknown:

Throwback throwdown.

02:47:23 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 5:

War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:47:26 - 02:47:53 | Speaker 7:

All right, this Sunday, Super Bowl. Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Halftime Show. They're going to be in Detroit at Ford Field in June. We're going to give you a shot to win tickets. Text MUSTARD right now to 95500. That's Mustard. Text that to 95500, and you have a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Super Bowl performing artists Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

02:47:55 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

02:47:57 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 7:

By the way, when you text Mustard to 95500 for a shot to win Kendrick Lamar and SZA tickets, just know that standard text and data rates to apply. Shannon, what's in the last hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:48:07 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, speaking of the Super Bowl, obviously the Chiefs and the Eagles are hanging out in New Orleans right now and doing all the media interviews and all of this pre-Super Bowl stuff.

02:48:20 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 7:

I have no interest in watching this game.

02:48:22 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 4:

I was just going to say that. I'll check it out. I'll check out the halftime show.

02:48:27 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 7:

I'm not into it because I got so let down by the Lions. I felt so depressed still by that. You'll watch it.

02:48:35 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 4:

These two teams that I have no interest in winning. You know what I mean? Well, yesterday, the question was asked of Travis Kelsey how he feels about the news that President Trump will be attending the Super Bowl. By the way, can people stop asking him Taylor Swift-related questions? Never. It was just, truly, like there was like one or two that I was like, okay, I want to know the answer to that.

02:49:17 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 7:

How insane is that going to be that Taylor Swift and Trump are going to be in the same?

02:49:21 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 4:

She is going to be there, yeah.

02:49:22 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 7:

And the two probably most trending people on social media in the same place, so that's going to be pretty interesting.

02:49:27 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 4:

Patrick Mahomes asked the same question.

02:49:30 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, it's always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president, and someone that is at the top position in our country. And so I didn't see that clip, but obviously it's cool to hear that he's seen me play football and respects the game that I play. You know what's interesting?

02:49:49 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Go ahead. Go ahead. So you say what you're saying. I was going to say, it's so crazy the variance of questions that are being asked at these press conferences. Like you're there.

02:50:00 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 3:

for a super bowl but you have no idea the media outlets that gain access oh and why they're there and to have to field questions about taylor swift then you actually get a football question he get

02:50:10 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 4:

a question about trump it's like but you know it's funny i actually like that i do too like i like hearing more more about the players and the teams than just football but the reason i made the taylor swift comment is like it it's it was it was overdone like everybody was asking a taylor

02:50:26 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 2:

swift related question to him by the way our good friend craig gas if you follow him i don't know if he's at this year's super bowl but years after years he's made an uh a fan name for himself by being the guy in the audience that asks the questions yeah so he does a really good job with it but to go back to this weekend you don't know what kind of security they're gonna have to have at that thing right i mean you got the superdome the biggest event ever you've got the president there all i kept thinking to myself was there was that movie do you remember the movie where there was the super uh it was uh wesley snipes and he saved everybody or something wasn't it wasn't there a movie where there was a big game at a super bowl and there was like somebody like that did some kind tried to do a terrorist attack or something at it i remember a movie watching it back in the day and i think it was at a superdome or something like that so i just sit there and i think to myself man i don't know necessarily i just still don't feel like the super bowl is ever safe enough even though the nfl does such a great job yeah but now you just added taylor swift in the audience you added the president it's going to be interesting it was

02:51:34 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 3:

just that tragedy not too long ago and then superdome yeah and then you got yeah college

02:51:39 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 2:

playoff game the guy that uh tried to drive up bourbon street yeah yeah irv gotti has died and

02:51:45 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 4:

If you're not knowing that name, if there's no name recollection there, he was huge in the music industry. A record executive, music producer, entrepreneur, probably best known as the founder of Murder, Inc. Records. He was only 54 years old, found dead in his home. Cause of death unknown right now. We do know he suffered a stroke last year, so there was that medical complication. But rose to prominence in the late 90s, early 2000s, played a key role in hip-hop and R&B records at that time. working with artists like Ja Rule, Ashanti, DMX. And before launching Murder, Inc. in New York City in the late 90s, he worked as an A&R rep over at Def Jam, where he helped bring DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja Rule to that label.

02:52:29 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 2:

Wow. 54 years old, man.

02:52:32 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 3:

True pioneer.

02:52:33 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Kanye West revealing on the Download podcast this week that his wife Bianca was the one who helped him realize that he was misdiagnosed. He's not bipolar. Rather, he's on the autism spectrum.

02:52:47 - 02:53:37 | Speaker 1:

I went to this doctor, one I work with, Justin Bieber, one I work with, I'm not even going to name other names and stuff. My wife took me to do that because she said something about your personality doesn't feel like it's bipolar. I've seen bipolar before. I've seen, she's educated, so I've seen bipolar before and come to find out it's really a case of autism that I have. And autism takes you to a Rain Man thing where you're like, oh, man, I'm going to wear this Trump hat because it's like Trump in general. And then when people tell you to not do it, you just get on that one point. And that's my problem when fans tell me to do my album a certain way. I'll do it the opposite way just because la, la, la, la, I got my money, right?

02:53:37 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 2:

When he does that, it always makes me think that he's going into, like, kind of an interesting little moment there, like, when he starts singing that and does that. Like, it's normal, but when Kanye does that, he'll do that sometimes, and he'll start, like, singing songs randomly, like, as answers. I'm like, uh-oh, what's going on now? Where's he going in this one here?

02:53:55 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 4:

The tables have turned. Actress Blake Lively is now being sued by a crisis management PR firm that played a key role in this PR standoff between her and her former co-star, Justin Baldoni. So this guy's name is Jed Wallace. He's from Street Relations. That's the name of this PR company. And he's accusing Blake of defamation for essentially roping him into this huge mess we've been talking about for the past couple of weeks. And he was like, you know, I did not do what everybody is pointing fingers at me for. And that was creating artificial content on social media platforms that appeared to attack Blake Lively and defend Justin. And he's like, I really didn't do this. In fact, he's looking for $7 million and a court order saying that it wasn't him. He's trying to save his reputation here. Now, in Related Dirty, and this is the biggest piece of this, all of this drama, this lawsuit, just might end with a settlement before next year's March trial date. And it's all thanks to Taylor, if it happens, the threat of Taylor Swift being deposed.

02:55:00 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 3:

could end this thing real quick and that threat's a real one. Taylor is a close friend of Blake's and Ryan Reynolds. She was at their apartment during that big infamous meeting where Blake and Justin Baldoni and Ryan were working on the it ends with us rooftop rewrite and Justin Baldoni's lawyer Brian Friedman basically told Harvey Levin at TMZ he will Harvey Levin asked him are you going to depose Taylor in this case because she was there like she is you know her name was dropped in this lawsuit and he said he wasn't sure he said it will be a game time decision if they do but then he added I can tell you this anyone that reasonably has information that can provide evidence in this case is going to be deposed well she's one of those people and so he said the threat of Taylor's deposition just might accelerate a settlement offer to avoid the biggest pop star in the world being put on the stand in a courtroom. A hundred percent.

02:56:00 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you that that would be a disappointment? We want it all to go to trial.

02:56:03 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 3:

I know.

02:56:04 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 1:

Are you done with your dirty? I am. I have guesses on that movie, which everybody's got a million of them. All right. I said the movie that they were at a Super Bowl or something like that. And there was like a terrorist attack because the president was at the Super Bowl or something. People are saying the last Boy Scout with Bruce Willis. Others are saying The Fan. Is that the Wesley Stipes movie, The Fan?

02:56:25 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 2:

That's the Googles.

02:56:27 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 1:

Sudden Death with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

02:56:30 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you, that text came in, and I went, where do you see that news? I was trying to get it for Shannon during her last dirty. I thought he suddenly died.

02:56:39 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 1:

And then The Dark Knight Rises, remember that, with Bane. So people were saying, so there's a lot.

02:56:46 - 02:56:57 | Speaker 2:

What was that Nicolas Cage movie, Snake Eyes? Was it Snake Eyes? It was like a boxing match And he was like a detective And somebody got assassinated in that one

02:56:57 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 1:

These are all movies by the way That are on in the middle of the night And I find myself not going to bed Because I end up watching

02:57:04 - 02:57:07 | Speaker 2:

I was on a Nicolas Cage binger like a month ago

02:57:07 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt Directly from the source It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 mojo the morning show okay i got a couple of questions to ask you guys i'm gonna just throw this out there as a uh little around the room survey um to the ladies to me ladies that are listening to the uh the show here today with uh it being that time of month where everybody wants to be in a relationship, I would like to ask you to rate the deal breakers here on men's hobbies slash occupations.

02:58:03 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:58:03 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 1:

Would some of these hobbies be deal breakers for you or in some cases, would they be a turn on for you if your guy were one of these? And I came up with a bunch of these, so I want you guys to tell us what you think. Lydia, you part of this one too? Is KP around, or is she doing some other work? Can we grab her somewhere?

02:58:25 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm here.

02:58:25 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 1:

KP there, too? Good. All right. Good. All right. Everybody there. Here we go. 56, let's see here. 56% of women say that a guy's hobby would be a deal breaker for them. If a guy was way too into something that it was his hobby and he liked it, it would be a deal breaker. Here are some hobbies that men like to do. What would you do as far as dating a guy who is a taxidermy enthusiast?

02:58:54 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. What is that? No.

02:58:57 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 1:

It's the guy that stuffs dead animals. The guy that spends his time stuffing. And then just lays them on his wall.

02:59:03 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 5:

What's the Steve Carell movie?

02:59:06 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 1:

Dinner for Schmucks. Dinner for Schmucks.

02:59:08 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 5:

Dinner for Schmucks, where he was making the funny movie scenes with the little mice. I'm into. Yeah.

02:59:14 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 1:

You would be into that.

02:59:14 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 5:

But if you are into just, like, mounting deer heads? No. No.

02:59:18 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:59:19 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 5:

But, like, if you're funny about it, maybe.

02:59:21 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 1:

What about this one? KP and Lydia, would you date a guy who was a doll collector? He had a room full of antique porcelain dolls that he talked to sometimes.

02:59:33 - 02:59:35 | Speaker 4:

Uh, no.

02:59:36 - 02:59:42 | Speaker 1:

No, there's not enough doll collectors that are in their 20s. Maybe this is an older one. Are we sure Wes wasn't a doll collector?

02:59:42 - 02:59:48 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't even be friends with a girl that did that. That is creepy. I was forced to have a doll collection in my room growing up. Still scarred.

02:59:48 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 1:

What about a guy that was a snake guy? Like, he likes snakes. He had a pet snake, snake breeder, was into snakes. What about you, Lydia? What would you do with that?

02:59:57 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 5:

Snake breeders?

02:59:58 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. A guy that's into snakes.

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 3:

side hustle and i don't have to see them that's fine nope i what's that got to do with me because

03:00:04 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 2:

he's coming home with something in his pants and it's not what you want it to be and you just know

03:00:08 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 3:

someone is going to get out yeah that's what i mean yeah no there here's here's something

03:00:12 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

interesting uh my friend shannon dated a guy by the name of russ and russ was wild he had a suit on during the day and at night she would go to his and this is not by day and night this is just like his thing she went to his house and he had a humongous aquarium with a boa constrictor in it and she was like i couldn't it was so weird i honestly wouldn't be able to sleep there but she said she said that sexually he was like one of the greatest ever i don't care because i think that people who are in the snakes are kind of sexually crazy um what if you were to date a guy who is a ghost hunter would you guys ever think about dating a ghost hunter the guys that

03:00:49 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Of all that you've mentioned, that's probably the least offensive, but I don't, that would still, I feel like you're a, how do I say this very nicely? You're a special human being if you go ghost hunting.

03:01:01 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 3:

Don't you agree? I'm going to say something controversial, you're brave. Everything else has not been a belief in something. This is a belief of something imaginary that does not exist, and if your hobby is to chase around something that doesn't exist. Oh, see, I believe in ghosts. That's why I don't think I would like that.

03:01:16 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 1:

And I thought, Megan, you were into that stuff. No. You're not into it? No.

03:01:19 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 3:

Mike was, is.

03:01:21 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, is he? Okay. Not me. What about the Kevin, you'll ask what this is because I didn't know what it was either. What if your guy was into LARPing? I know what LARPing is. Oh, you do know? Yeah. What's that? They go outside and they play. Live action role playing. Live action role playing.

03:01:36 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well. I've seen role models. Okay. So I always say when I retire, I'm going to be the lady that you visit at Greenfield Village for holiday nights that's baking bread and putting a turkey in the oven and churning the butter. so you know what I can't I can't judge on that one Lydia and KP would you date a guy that was

03:01:54 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 1:

really into renaissance festival stuff and like to dress up yeah as long as he kept all of his

03:01:59 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 4:

stuff and like swords and stuff in a storage unit yeah no that's enough for me that's where I draw

03:02:04 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 1:

the line wow they got good food and they drink I don't think I've ever seen a Chaldean man dress up and go to thank you god um well okay here's one this is a little realistic one and this one actually would be a good one would you date a competitive eater like yeah like uh joey chestnuts or kobayashi we're going hot dog for hot dog would you be okay with your guy entering like buffalo wing eating contest not stoney's kind of hot is that the new up-and-comer he's been around for quite a while has he yeah how about a clown performer what if the guy's uh no no no um a Vintage train guy, guy that was collecting model trains and vintage trains.

03:02:48 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't do it with you, but I wouldn't tell you you couldn't do it.

03:02:52 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 1:

No? Okay. How about a marathon runner? Would you date a guy that was a marathon runner?

03:02:56 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 2:

No. I know one of those.

03:02:57 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 1:

You have to go and watch him at the marathons?

03:02:59 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 2:

I know one of those. Really? Yes. Married to him.

03:03:02 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 1:

Would you?

03:03:04 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So I would. But that doesn't mean I'm participating.

03:03:08 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 1:

What about the weekend sports warrior? KP's got a guy like that because he took her skiing. She's never skied before. KP, the sports warrior, the guy that likes to do things and be out and about and be active.

03:03:23 - 03:03:25 | Speaker 4:

That's fine as long as he doesn't make me hike every weekend.

03:03:26 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Your guy actually got you on skis, and look what happened to you.

03:03:29 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 4:

I know. I'm on crutches. I'm going to hit him with my crutch.

03:03:32 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 1:

Has it hurt the relationship or helped? Last we talked to you, it seemed like the relationship was great because you learned that he was a very compassionate guy.

03:03:41 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it made me say the L word.

03:03:43 - 03:03:44 | Unknown:

Oh!

03:03:45 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Wait, stop him. What? What? Yeah. Six weeks in?

03:03:51 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I knew, like, week two, and he said the same thing. He said it first, and then we talked about, like, the moment that we knew.

03:03:59 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 2:

All right, tell me you love me.

03:04:00 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing.

03:04:02 - 03:04:03 | Speaker 2:

All right, tell me you love me.

03:04:03 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 1:

That's unbelievable.

03:04:04 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 2:

So you're definitely boyfriend-girlfriend.

03:04:06 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Man, why was that not on your topics? That's a great topic.

03:04:09 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, I felt like it maybe could be kept quiet, but I will say he did ask me to be his girlfriend a couple of days ago. He laid out a bunch of rose petals on a bed and said, will you be my girlfriend? Oh, my God.

03:04:21 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 1:

This guy, that guy could be a ferret. What's the next one here? A ferret breeder. And you'd be OK with it now.

03:04:28 - 03:04:31 | Speaker 4:

No, for me. No, I don't want any snakes or rodents or anything.

03:04:31 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 1:

How about a scuba diver? Would you like a scuba diver? A guy that makes you go on trips to places to go scuba diving? These are all wines. Triathletes. Would you date a triathlete? Oh, here's one. This is a good one. A lot of women said that they wouldn't be into this. Would you date a guy that only drinks wine? A wine enthusiast, but that drinks no other.

03:04:56 - 03:04:56 | Unknown:

I don't know.

03:04:57 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Is wine a little.

03:05:00 - 03:05:02 | Speaker 6:

So not masculine enough for the guys?

03:05:02 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 1:

No, and I think people who think that are very young.

03:05:04 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 6:

Really?

03:05:05 - 03:05:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I think once you hit a certain age, it's like, whatever you enjoy, enjoy it. I would actually love that.

03:05:11 - 03:05:11 | Speaker 6:

Would you?

03:05:11 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 2:

Because you could tell me about all the different kinds of, you know, what I should be drinking.

03:05:15 - 03:05:16 | Speaker 6:

What if he was just a white wine drinker?

03:05:17 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 2:

Like Kev?

03:05:17 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 6:

He likes just white wine. I'm just kidding, Kev.

03:05:19 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 2:

I prefer a white wine. I know you do. The Pinot Grigio.

03:05:21 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 6:

I prefer a white wine. Kev likes wine cooler.

03:05:23 - 03:05:32 | Speaker 2:

I literally love, when we go out and Kev, Kev's like my wine buddy because he will, even that Irish on Ionia. He's like Pinot Grigio. That's all he'll order.

03:05:32 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I'm on that. How about a car restorer? Would you like a guy that restores cars? No. No? It's a big money thing. No, it's not even

03:05:40 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 1:

that. I grew up with car restorers, so let's make that very clear. This comes from a very personal place. Y'all be angry 24-7 on your weekends.

03:05:50 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 2:

What about a guy who is obsessed with

03:05:52 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 6:

Disney? Oh. Yeah. That's Joe. That's my son. He's a weird dog. I did it

03:05:58 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 2:

Disney obsessed today. Really?

03:06:00 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 6:

How about a bird photographer? You have to go and watch birds all day. Miguel, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, did we call out any of your actually, no, you wanted to make a comment about the KP thing. Is that right?

03:06:12 - 03:06:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sorry. For a long time listener, first time calling.

03:06:16 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

03:06:19 - 03:06:32 | Speaker 4:

So I just wanted to say, you know, I heard KP drop the L word after six weeks. Girl, I get it. I met my wife. I knew after like the third day. I know where you're coming from. You're on crutches. You locked in, girl. That's cute. That's cute.

03:06:33 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 6:

Miguel, do you have any weird habits or hobbies that we call any of yours out in this one here?

03:06:42 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 4:

Are you a gamer?

03:06:44 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 6:

I am a gamer. Yeah, gamers are the big one, too. The guys that are really into gaming.

03:06:50 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 4:

I cannot be a gamer. I will say I have a backlog. I just collect stuff. I don't know how my wife tolerates me, but all I do is buy a bunch of stuff, and it stacks. Just know when I'm retired, I will be the best grandpa ever with all these video games ready to go.

03:07:01 - 03:07:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's cool. How about a yoga addict? A guy that's into yoga so much that he just does nonstop yoga. These are all...

03:07:08 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 4:

I will say that's different, and I respect everybody for what they want, but if you want a guy that's flexible, do you. I would probably break myself into trying yoga, so more power to him, but I couldn't do it.

03:07:21 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 2:

I could have never dated a hunter. Yeah. Which I know is a big thing here, but that, like, really, I just...

03:07:28 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 6:

You can't see killing animals, but you eat meat.

03:07:30 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 2:

I understand this.

03:07:32 - 03:07:34 | Speaker 6:

What is Wes's hobby? He's a...

03:07:34 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 2:

He does all, like, the... He does OCR, so it's, like, obstacle course racing, which sounds, like, weird until you see somebody do it, and you're like, holy crap, I could never do that. And, like, the ninja stuff.

03:07:47 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 7:

What's that stuff where they flip around? What's that called? They did it in the office where he was like... Parkour? Yeah, parkour. Yeah.

03:07:53 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Is it like that kind of? Kind of. Yeah. But there's like running, there's like a big running and swimming and biking component to it too.

03:07:59 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 1:

He does real parkour. I do the office parkour where you just like step up onto a couch and yell parkour and then step off of it.

03:08:05 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 6:

I know a lot of women in my circles because we golf and stuff and a lot of their wives get really upset with the guy's golf trips.

03:08:12 - 03:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so do you want to, it's so crazy you just said that. He said to me last night for his new job, he has to learn how to play golf because that's how they're, they, you know, a lot of, they entertain a lot of clients or whatever. so he's going to reach out to you probably today because he needs to get he needs to buy golf clubs

03:08:26 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 6:

he needs all this stuff we'll hook him up with carl's uh golfing kneel over carl's i don't have

03:08:31 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 1:

a problem with golfing golfing just takes up so much time right and i feel like a lot of guys i know use it to avoid their responsibilities if you're not i'll straight up say it you know that we fought in person about it before but i think if you're not avoiding your responsibilities and

03:08:46 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 6:

03:10:00 - 03:10:01 | Speaker 4:

Does she have a Harry Bush?

03:10:02 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 5:

Starring Marilyn Chambers.

03:10:04 - 03:10:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, that was a big name, yeah. You know her? No, that's a big porn star name, yeah.

03:10:10 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying. You know her?

03:10:11 - 03:10:18 | Speaker 4:

I don't know her. You know her work? But back in the old days, the porn, the women had hair, weighed a lot of hair down there, didn't they?

03:10:19 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Lots, lots of hair. So you ever heard Tracy Lortz, right? The story behind Tracy Lortz? We're going to nerd on this one.

03:10:26 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 4:

I've heard her name, but I don't know if I want to get into it, Brian.

03:10:29 - 03:10:36 | Speaker 5:

I won't get into it, but if you see Tracy Lord's videos, buy them. They're worth a fortune. Say her name.

03:10:36 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 4:

It's Tracy Lord. Brian, do you have a girl in your life?

03:10:40 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 5:

I am married, and she helps me with my collection. Oh, my God.

03:10:44 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys go on, like, weekend getaways and sell them at swap meets?

03:10:47 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 5:

Or, like, garage sales or something? Yeah, and we love upside-down pineapples as well. Got you. If you know, you know.

03:10:55 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 1:

But then my question is, like, if you had to put a value on your whole collection, How much do you think it's worth? Genuinely.

03:11:03 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 5:

Uh, $200,000 if I had a good value. Oh, my God. Are you serious? All right, back on the table. Back on the table. So here's my question, though. When I die, who do I will them to? Me. Me.

03:11:16 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:11:24 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

03:11:26 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 3:

Live.

03:11:29 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Aaron, what did you date, Aaron?

03:11:34 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 5:

Not date, it's who I am. I'm an anime lover. An anime lover.

03:11:40 - 03:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Okay, you're into anime.

03:11:41 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 5:

Little Naruto? Yeah, I watch all the shows and I collect like the Funko Pops and the figures.

03:11:46 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Okay. By the way, your voice is perfect for this. Hi, I'm an anime lover. I love anime. Don't let him do that to you. Stand up to him. No, no. Oh, no, I'm used to it.

03:11:57 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 5:

I can change my voice and everything.

03:11:59 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 4:

I love that.

03:12:00 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 3:

He's going to run at you in the hallway like this. He's going to get that element of fire and hit you with it. Stop.

03:12:05 - 03:12:06 | Unknown:

Stop.

03:12:06 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 3:

He's going to throw his hands in the back and run at you like this. Wait, stop. Wait, stop. Wait, stop. Wait, stop.

03:12:11 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 4:

What's your favorite?

03:12:12 - 03:12:13 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to get to you, Mojo.

03:12:14 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 4:

What's your favorite anime?

03:12:16 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm crying. Right now, Demon Slayer.

03:12:19 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Me too. Me too.

03:12:22 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

03:12:24 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 4:

Hey, thank you for calling, man. I appreciate it. Do you listen to the show often?

03:12:29 - 03:12:34 | Speaker 5:

03:12:34 - 03:12:36 | Speaker 4:

03:12:36 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 2:

03:12:48 - 03:12:52 | Speaker 4:

This is the worst radio show in the world. How has this show been? It's so damn funny, though.

03:12:52 - 03:12:53 | Speaker 1:

You guys are bold.

03:12:53 - 03:13:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We are giving you a chance to win $1,000 right now. The word this hour is money, M-O-N-E-Y. Go enter that right now, money, up on our website, mojointhemorning.com. Your chance, I kind of like choked, you know what it is? I still, I got like the fat jowls and it kind of got in the way a little bit. Money, mojointhemorning.com. I need the Heimlich just for saying the word money.

03:13:20 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 2:

More Mojo in minutes.

03:13:21 - 03:15:14 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning uh can we all say hi really quick to somebody uh we have ash who listens to the show uh he's from england and he listens to our radio show and he works side by side with mojo in the morning misfit victor what up ash and ash is a former jay towers listener who has become a listener of our show through the fact that his co-worker is Misfit Victor. Which, by the way, do us a favor, and listen, I don't want to take anybody away from Jay because he's in the same company and we love Jay, but I also don't want Jay to get ratings. And I don't want anybody else. I want 100% of the ratings. He's got to feed his family. So if you work in an office and you listen to us and you've got your earbuds in and AirPods, God's, I want you to tell everybody what you're laughing at. That's what happened with Victor. Victor just started laughing about something, and the guy's like, what are you laughing at? And Victor goes, I'm crazy. But I want you to tell a coworker or tell somebody that you spend your days with to listen to the show. Give us a try and see what you think. Play them something that you thought was something that was either funny or made you cry or made you go, holy crap, what's up with that? So we need to turn more people on. And then set us as a preset on your iHeartRadio app. you can actually preset all of our stations channel 955 104.5 snx and 92.5 kiss fm and then of course preset mojo in the morning in our podcast and then more mojo which is the after show podcast and plus we also have the we don't podcast so there's a lot of things that you got out there all right no joe in the morning show we're talking a lot about dating and stuff and i i do have to say this that i feel like megan's kind of a mystery to me because i feel like she only tells shannon nowadays anything that goes on in her life shannon's been asking and i don't oh i

03:15:14 - 03:15:22 | Speaker 2:

ask i ask okay now i'm going to i'm gonna ask now now i regret saying that but i i always want to

03:15:22 - 03:15:33 | Speaker 4:

know like and i know megan you know i know you go back and forth uh to toledo you're there a lot and you got, you know, your new place in Detroit that you love and all the rest of this stuff.

03:15:33 - 03:15:34 | Speaker 3:

I love being down here.

03:15:34 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 4:

But I want to know, you know, dating-wise, are you giving yourself a chance? Are you giving your number out to anybody? Have you given your number out to anybody recently or gone on any dates?

03:15:46 - 03:15:46 | Speaker 1:

Well.

03:15:46 - 03:15:48 | Speaker 4:

What are you saying no to?

03:15:48 - 03:15:58 | Speaker 1:

I say no because there's one person that she actually wants to go out with and she refuses to ask. That's funny. And this is bothering me so much.

03:15:58 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 2:

It's also true. But I also, he's right too. And I've kind of given my number out to somebody. This honestly might make a really good, am I the a-hole? Because you tell me if I'm the bad guy here. I was at a gas station and I, out of all of us here, or our industry, I should say in general, a lot of us have terrible hearing. We all wear headphones for years and years and years. And I really genuinely have bad hearing. but on top of that I think out of all of us Mojo and I, I'm going to loop you into this we have the worst hearing out of everybody I have such a hard time understanding people just in general and this guy had a very heavy accent and I hate when you ask somebody to repeat themselves over and over and over and over again because it gets very awkward so I'll ask you to repeat yourself once and then if I still don't get it I'll do the whole yeah dude for sure just trying to move the conversation along because I don't know what's happening And he hands his phone to me, and I realize that this guy has asked me for my number. And because I didn't understand what he was saying over and over and over again, it was like the new contact thing. You know when you, like, are adding a contact to your phone, you're like, fill it out.

03:17:05 - 03:17:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So he said, put your number into my...

03:17:07 - 03:17:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And at this point, I have said yes to his face.

03:17:10 - 03:17:14 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you please speak English? Maybe I can understand you.

03:17:14 - 03:17:25 | Speaker 2:

He absolutely was. This is 100% my fault. Did I know what he was saying? and I put in the wrong information on purpose. I'm the bad guy.

03:17:25 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 1:

Why didn't you just say, oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. I don't give my number out. I didn't know what was worse.

03:17:31 - 03:17:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're saying. Giving a fake number, you a-hole. Or just never seeing this person ever again.

03:17:37 - 03:17:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, so let's ask the listeners. What should Megan have done in that case? Was he a good-looking guy?

03:17:44 - 03:17:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but how can we have a relationship if I don't know what he's saying?

03:17:48 - 03:17:55 | Speaker 4:

You know what? You don't need to. What was his accent? What kind of accent did he have?

03:17:56 - 03:18:01 | Speaker 3:

Great question. If I had to assume something in the Middle East?

03:18:02 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

03:18:02 - 03:18:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

03:18:03 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 4:

It wasn't the language of love. I wonder if anybody's ever been with somebody that they didn't understand. Like they did not speak their language. Not a word. Not a word.

03:18:13 - 03:18:16 | Speaker 2:

I didn't catch a word.

03:18:16 - 03:18:22 | Speaker 4:

So the guy's speaking to you, but he's attractive, and you're turned down by his looks.

03:18:22 - 03:18:23 | Speaker 2:

And he's nice.

03:18:23 - 03:18:25 | Speaker 4:

But you have no idea what this man is saying.

03:18:25 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and he's smiling, and I'm trying not to be a butthole. You know what I mean?

03:18:29 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the best kind of relationship? Do you understand that you guys never have to communicate with each other?

03:18:34 - 03:18:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I truly didn't know it was worse. I walked out to my car, and I just went, I don't know.

03:18:41 - 03:19:46 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE. By the way, this is the number you should have given out. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, the telephone number. Two things on this one. Is Megan wrong for what she did? She gave him a bad number. And the other thing is, is there anybody that's ever dated somebody they did not understand them? They could not understand them. Because I hear all the time people that will tell me, yeah, I came over here from, and they'll tell me someplace that they came over from. And I didn't speak a word of English. And I'm like, oh, really? And then, like, I always wonder, I know how I am. I've been to Mexico, and I've been to Europe. I went to Paris. I went to England, too, but they speak what we speak. I just don't understand what they're saying because they're too fancy with the way they say it. But I could not understand some of the people that I visited when I visit my brother in Puerto Vallarta. And I never could understand some of the Parisians that I had no idea. I think they were talking about us. But could you imagine if you found somebody that you met that you liked and you couldn't speak their language?

03:19:47 - 03:19:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that would be super tough. I mean, somebody would have to learn.

03:19:50 - 03:19:51 | Speaker 4:

You'd have to go to Babbel.

03:19:51 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 1:

You'd both have to learn. Yeah, for real. That's how you'd have to communicate is just hand your phone back and forth and translate.

03:19:56 - 03:19:58 | Speaker 4:

Jimmy, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Jimmy?

03:20:00 - 03:20:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, I have a funny story. So I am pretty much deaf. I can't hear anything. If there's music playing in the background, so bars, nightclubs are just really difficult for me. On my honeymoon, we met this really nice woman. She was pretty drunk, and the music's playing, and she tells me a story, and she says, oh, actually, I'm a refugee from Kosovo, and my dad was killed in the war. I couldn't hear what she was saying, And so all I did was say, oh, that's awesome. And I nodded. And then like 30 seconds later, it clicked. And I'm like, oh, my God. What did I just say? Oh, no. It was mortifying. But luckily, I don't think she really, she was a little too far gone to remember. You know, the next day, we were friends at all. But it was just very horrifying. So please keep me out of any bars or anything with loud voice.

03:20:51 - 03:21:08 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's my go-to is always to do exactly what you and Megan do, which is the, yeah that's fantastic for sure not knowing exactly what to say hi britney what's going on it's mojo in the morning how you doing hey what's going on first time caller long time

03:21:08 - 03:21:29 | Speaker 4:

so i actually work in a more hispanic environment and we have a purchaser who is i'm not trying to be racist but a white male and he is seeing another co-worker who is hispanic and don't speak english so and they somehow make it work really they don't understand each other but they

03:21:29 - 03:21:45 | Speaker 3:

they get through the day every day they they know the most important language and that is you know the no the sign language like that the little you know you do sign language with them you know you show them exactly what you're

03:21:45 - 03:21:51 | Speaker 4:

going to do with them later in the night you know google google translate is amazing you know what

03:21:51 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 3:

That's interesting.

03:21:52 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 4:

That's what I mean. Yeah.

03:21:53 - 03:22:11 | Speaker 3:

That is actually very interesting. You just send text messages to each other. You could talk dirty in that. My brother lives in Puerto Vallarta, and he'll send me messages sometimes. And his messages come up in Spanish because he speaks fluent Spanish, and that's all he does, sends messages. And I have to hit the little button that's next to the text that says translate.

03:22:11 - 03:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes. TikTok got those.

03:22:13 - 03:22:24 | Speaker 4:

And that's what they do. They translate almost everything. or there's a couple of us that work together that will translate for them to go back and forth. It's insane, but it works. They've been dating for like a year now.

03:22:24 - 03:22:30 | Speaker 5:

Can you imagine Google knowing all of your conversations? They do anyway. I got a bottom, bro.

03:22:30 - 03:22:39 | Speaker 2:

TikTok got some earbuds that they say you can have a full conversation with somebody who speaks a different language. It'll translate into whatever language that you speak.

03:22:39 - 03:22:44 | Speaker 5:

I saw somebody test it. It was somebody speaking Italian, and they said it was very accurate. Whoa, that's cool.

03:22:44 - 03:22:54 | Speaker 3:

We should buy those and test it. That would be kind of wild. I wonder if we could buy those, do it on the radio, and just have people call us that listen to us on the iHeart app in other countries.

03:22:54 - 03:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Are they expensive? I don't think they were.

03:22:56 - 03:23:39 | Speaker 3:

That's actually kind of cool. That's a great bet. I buy them. That would be a great one. You know, the funny thing is, and I kind of remember this, but when my dad came over from Cuba, met my mom, and my mom didn't speak any Spanish at all. Really? And they started dating, and within a few months, they went back to Cuba. Like this was, you know, when you could go to Cuba. And I remember my mom going, I couldn't understand anything at all. And when I met your grandma and your grandpa, they would just talk to me and I would just go, oh, yes, whatever. You know, like the whole deal is. And my dad the whole time would just go, they just love you. They love you. And I'm thinking, I wonder if they really did love us. Yeah, what were they really saying? Like you're meeting the in-laws and they're like, eh, you could do better. You know what I mean?

03:23:39 - 03:23:41 | Speaker 2:

Or something like that. Is this it?

03:23:41 - 03:23:53 | Speaker 3:

We should have Megan go back to this gas station to go meet this guy, and then we should find out where he's from and what language he speaks, and let's have somebody translate for Megan when she's out on the road.

03:23:54 - 03:24:03 | Speaker 5:

It's me, table for three, please. It's me, my date, my translator. I'm just saying the guy that you should be giving your number to speaks English just

03:24:03 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 3:

clear and fine. We talk about him every day. You don't think that this is getting back to him at all?

03:24:08 - 03:24:09 | Speaker 5:

Do you not? Just ask him.

03:24:09 - 03:24:11 | Speaker 3:

We got to bring him in studio. No.

03:24:11 - 03:24:12 | Speaker 5:

No, don't be weird.

03:24:13 - 03:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Valentine's Day.

03:24:13 - 03:24:19 | Speaker 5:

I really want Megan to start dating. No, no. Megan actually wants to date somebody. Let's make it super awkward so they don't want to date her.

03:24:19 - 03:24:33 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, I got an idea. This is a great idea. Let's find the nicest restaurant in town. We'll go have the restaurant come to us in the studio. We'll set up in the corner of the studio a table, two chairs, like the whole thing.

03:24:33 - 03:24:38 | Speaker 5:

No, it just needs to be his security guard table over there.

03:24:38 - 03:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine, though? Like, seriously, we go, we see if Sammy over at Wilders would do this for us. Like, send it over and Megan have her own date with him during the show. We're so doing this.

03:24:48 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 5:

No, please. You guys, you don't have enough shit. What a cute story. This is truly not fair. Y'all are like, we need you to date. We need you to do this. Me, I'm really trying to work on getting this guy to ask me.

03:25:00 - 03:25:08 | Speaker 4:

Now, you guys, let's make a bit out of it to make these super awkward so he doesn't actually want to date you. Okay, so if you get his number by tomorrow, then we won't do it.

03:25:09 - 03:25:11 | Speaker 3:

Fine, Lydia, I love you.

03:25:11 - 03:25:13 | Speaker 4:

And plan a date.

03:25:13 - 03:25:16 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. And we're doing a bit during the show. It's such a great bet. No.

03:25:17 - 03:25:19 | Speaker 4:

Do it with somebody else.

03:25:19 - 03:25:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, we just announced it on the radio, and Jubal's going to steal it from us, and I want to make sure we are the ones that do it.

03:25:24 - 03:25:27 | Speaker 4:

Good for you, Jubal. I'm sure you'll execute it to perfection.

03:25:27 - 03:25:34 | Speaker 3:

No, it's Megan and our special sexy security guard in the studios here for Valentine's Day.

03:25:34 - 03:25:48 | Speaker 4:

All of you are going to get your information revoked, okay? Don't ask questions. I'm not going to tell y'all anything. All you want to do is destroy the good things in my life. You're no secretly inside. You're kind of excited. No, because I actually like him.

03:25:48 - 03:26:12 | Speaker 3:

When we are back tomorrow, we will have updates on the War of the Roses from this morning if you missed it. It was a tearjerker, Jen's heartbroken with the War of the Roses and who her husband sent the flowers to. And we'll also recap everything that happened today, going to the DAC to go hang out. I like it. It's the beavers. We're going to go out with the beavers today. That, by the way, to me, is kind of funny.

03:26:13 - 03:26:13 | Speaker 4:

It's so funny.

03:26:14 - 03:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Everything's in the pool. Do you think they would allow me to become like an honorary member or something? A little beaver? I could be part of this whole thing. You could be a beaver. We'll see you guys tomorrow. Have a great day. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:26:30 - 03:26:31 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning.
