00:06:09 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

by the way this is a big one 30 is a big one because i mean there's certain birthdays are kind of monumental obviously any of the ones that are round right round birthdays but 30 is a big one because it's kind of like you've done, and you, by the way, have accomplished so much by your 30th. Think of all the stuff that you told us that you were grateful for the past year that you were able to accomplish. But there's some things that you've missed. I'm nervous now. Uh-oh. We need to find the, was your birthday Saturday

00:06:37 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

or Sunday? Sunday. Super Bowl Sunday.

00:06:39 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

So you've got today and tomorrow to get some last minute things done. Alright, I'm listening. Okay? You ever have sex with a hooker? No. No, that's not. Don't do that. That's not something to accomplish. I just want to make sure. No, this is a confession. This is a confession. Have you, let me ask this question. Have you ever loved him and leaved him at all in the same time?

00:06:59 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:07:00 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

Met somebody and left him? No. All right, we got to find him like a date for tonight. Can we do that at all? You mean like a one-night stand? Yeah, like a one-night. Have you ever had a one-night stand? I've had a one-night stand. Yeah, but like, I don't love. Were you the one that loved? Oh, no, okay. What are some other things that we could get him to do? Any more things? Have you had sex with two different people in the same day? No.

00:07:21 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 5:

We can make that happen by Sunday.

00:07:23 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah, that sounds cool.

00:07:25 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

Have you had sex with someone older than 30? Yes.

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Why is it about sex?

00:07:31 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 5:

Did you go to Cedar Point or something? Well, it's the writing rags.

00:07:39 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever written Steel Vengeance? Well, I thought her name was Gary. I don't know. We got to figure out, like, you know, when we all turned 30 years old, I felt like by 30 years old, like, I felt like, you know, it was weird because I had family and stuff like that. I was married, had kids. And I had buddies of mine that were 30 years old, and they were like the single guys going to Vegas and popping bottles and stuff. And it's funny because no matter where you are in your life, you always sit there and compare yourselves to others. And I will say this to you, Zach. I think you are right where you should be. Amen. Thank you. You are exactly in the right spot. And you said this. It was out of the mouth of a babe. You said that this was such a good year for you. Yeah, it was. And we're only getting better. Hey, give me some, bro. He walked in the studio today. He walked in the studio today, and Lydia goes, Are you okay? Are you sad? What's going on? How are you feeling about this being your birthday weekend?

00:08:33 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't really celebrate my birthday unless, like, I don't know. Like, I don't do things for myself unless, like, it's already planned and someone else did it, like, for me. So, like, I don't know. It's just another day. But it's Super Bowl day. I get to see Kendrick.

00:08:45 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Sorry.

00:09:16 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Zach is the guy that literally makes everybody's day better, and we need to make his day better because, you know, today is obviously his Friday birthday celebration that we're going to do. I appreciate you. Courtney, anything that Zach needs to do by the time he's 30 years old? Is there, you know, 48 hours left?

00:09:36 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Hmm. Yeah, I don't know. on the spot. I can't think of anything, really.

00:11:25 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 5:

Happy birthday, Zach. Guess what? My birthday is on the same day, but I'm way older than him.

00:11:32 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 3:

You're an Aquarius.

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 1:

That's what matters.

00:11:35 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 3:

Right, right. All people on the same day need to get together, hold hands, be naked, and watch the Super Bowl. Have you ever watched the Super Bowl naked?

00:11:43 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 1:

I've never watched the Super Bowl. I have not.

00:11:44 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I don't know if I want to watch the Super Bowl naked. Although I will tell you this. I have put big pants on Super Bowl Sundays because I knew I was going to eat a lot of food. I don't know if that's the same. It's a good sweatpants kind of day. Gabby, happy birthday to you. Have the best birthday, okay? Thank you. Happy birthday, Zach. Happy birthday, Jason. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go!

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:12:09 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 3:

All right, all happened in the same year. This was the year that the TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was on television.

00:12:18 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 5:

My mother has told me in the past that if you fart 12 to 15 times a day, you can lose a lot of weight.

00:12:24 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh. Ted, starring Mark Wahlberg, hit theaters.

00:12:28 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

She could really talk to me.

00:12:31 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

It's that nothing is more powerful than a young boy's wish.

00:12:36 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 4:

You're my best friend, John. I love you.

00:12:41 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 3:

But eventually, everyone grows up. And the big song. I don't think, is this a song? I have a different song written on my page here. We found love. Was it? Okay. All right. I had the wanted. Glad you came. But. Interesting. That's okay. I'll take this one.

00:13:01 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 1:

It's Zach's birthday.

00:13:02 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 3:

It's Zach's birthday. I was going to say, I just want to make sure I didn't play the wrong clip. Oh, you're good. You're smart. Both of them probably from the same year. You remember the year that stuff happened. Back to the podcast in a second. But you can get everything that you need to start off your new year for just $15 a month. 00:13:36 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 2:

We gonna take you back in the day. It's Mojo in the Morning. It's back in the day.

00:13:42 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Tell us when this stuff happened. All right. It was the year that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo came out on, what was that on? Was that on HBO?

00:13:51 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 5:

My mother has told me in the past that if you fart 12 to 15 times a day, you can lose a lot of weight. What? What do they teach? It used to be like an informational network.

00:14:04 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah. Ted was the big movie starring Mark Wahlberg. She could really talk to me. It's that nothing is more powerful than a young boy's wish. And the big song was Rihanna. What year was this? Leah from Sterling Heights, do we have the right year?

00:14:22 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 5:

It was 2012.

00:14:25 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 3:

Give it to her. Congratulations. You got it. We're going to set you up with the prize. Hang on the phone for just one second. We're going to give you tickets to Monster Jam happening at Ford Field. Tickets available, Ticketmaster.com. You got them for free. Congratulations to you.

00:14:41 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. Thank you so much. Have a great weekend, everyone. You too.

00:14:43 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Have a great one. By the way, Ford Field, February 24th. So coming up on February 24th. Right now, we'll give you a shot at tickets to go see sold-out Tate McRae concert, which is presented by the Mojo in the Morning Show. We're going to give you the tickets.

Tate McCray tickets now, and then later this morning, they'll be performing at the Super Bowl. Kendrick and SZA tickets. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Cab's idea was for Zach's 30th birthday that he needs to get dirty and do the dirty on the 30. So Shannon's going to give him one story to do at the end of this dirty. Is that right?

00:15:31 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:15:31 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, what's going on?

00:15:33 - 00:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so first off, I want to start with some baby news, but some really exciting baby news. A great big congratulations to Jared and Kristen Goff. Yeah. They are expecting their first Little Lion Cup this summer. I love it. They actually, so she was on the red carpet last night. Kristen, I hate you. I know. You look even more beautiful pregnant than you already are stunning anyway. But she did look beautiful. They spoke exclusively to People Magazine about their excitement for parenthood with Jared saying he's really looking forward to becoming a dad. And Kristen said, we're just excited to enjoy this special time together and soak up every single second. So from what I'm hearing, babies come in this summer.

00:16:17 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. That is so cool. By the way, they had the NFL Awards last night. Dan Campbell got screwed.

00:16:21 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 1:

Bruh.

00:16:22 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 2:

I agree. Dan Campbell did not win Coach of the Year. The guy who we beat twice, that Minnesota Vikings coach, ended up winning. And Dan Campbell had some people that didn't even vote for him in the top three of coaches. That's Hader right there. Somebody doesn't like Dan Campbell. I don't understand why that could be because the guy seems like the most lovable. And if you watch any of those shows like the ESPN shows or CBS and NFL stuff, those guys all love him. Like, they all talk about how he would be the guy they would want to coach their team, so. The problem is not a lot of those guys are actually voters. Yeah, that's the problem. Ben Johnson did win. He won assistant coach of the year. And I think there's a lot of people that have this feeling that Ben Johnson was the brains behind things. And I think that that's the big thing for next year. Dan's got to come back and he's got to just kill it next year just so that people get this Ben Johnson thing out of their head.

00:17:15 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 1:

Have you guys been following this little Demi Moore, Andrew Garfield fling? they have been spotted everywhere together and they are not shy with their pda um they were at the golden globes together they went to two i'm thinking two different film festival film festivals and after parties together they've been spotted all around idaho lately where demi moore has a home leading to lots of speculation that something is going on like something serious is going on there oh andrew hearing that taylor swift feels absolutely manipulated by her former friend blake lively in this ongoing legal battle with justin baldoni as far as their friendship goes there allegedly isn't one at the moment and taylor swears she unknowingly walked into that meeting between blake justin and ryan reynolds at blake and ryan's new york city penthouse unaware that this very serious discussion about a scene in it ends with us was happening and since that night Taylor has learned that Blake has name dropped her and has leveraged her name in various situations

00:18:23 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 2:

and it's just baffling her so just not good Blake Lively if she doesn't win this case or you know ends up losing to Justin Baldoni I wonder what this does for her in Ryan Reynolds career

00:18:38 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 1:

Well, and she's also getting some bad blood, pun intended, right now because she's about to be, well, she's currently promoting a sequel to a movie that she did with Anna Kendrick. And there's a lot of rumors that her and Anna Kendrick hated each other's guts and that she was really kind of a mean girl to Anna Kendrick. So now that story is piggybacking on this one, which is not good for her reputation. And, oh, this is you. This is you, Zach.

00:19:05 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 2:

This is you. Hang on. Come on, this is good.

00:19:08 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 1:

He has not seen this story yet, so this is totally, like, I'm throwing him to the Wolves here.

00:19:12 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 2:

All right, he's going to get to sit down and do your own microphone.

00:19:16 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm a bad reader.

00:19:16 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, here's now, sit down, sit down, sit down. This is actually kind of fun. Sit down right there. This is great. Zach's birthday today, he's going to be, or on Sunday, he's going to be 30 years old, so he's doing a dirty on the 30 right now. Go ahead, Zach.

00:19:29 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 3:

The Memphis Zoo in Tennessee is celebrating Valentine's Day by giving fans a chance to sell a cute red panda video to their sweethearts or a video of a crapping elephant to their axis the zoo announced its dating or dumping promo in exchange to a donation of ten dollars you can get a video to pass along a v-day gift the options are adorable video of a red panda munching on a grape or a stinky video of an elephant pooping hitting the uh hitting the pile I don't know.

00:20:00 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 1:

DeZoo said on social media that the elephant poop videos are good for more than just exes. Maybe it's just your annoying neighbor, overbearing mother-in-law, your ex, or that co-worker who still gives you nightmares. This Valentine's Day, let an elephant do the talking and name the turd after a turd.

00:20:15 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Yay! Why did that remind me of when I was at Columbia College and we all had to go and do a news story for a class one day? And we had to get up in front of the class? It kind of reminded me a little bit of that.

00:20:29 - 00:20:45 | Speaker 4:

Or, like, you would do that popcorn reading, and I would always, like, count how many people were before me so I could practice what I thought was going to be my little chunk. Not sound like an idiot. Good job, Zach. Hey, for all of this week's Dirty, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or mojointhemorning.com.

00:20:46 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 1:

00:20:50 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

That kid is so cute.

00:20:51 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 1:

I know, I love it. Dirty on the 30.

00:20:54 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 3:

Give Shannon a hug like she gave him a present or something. That was crazy. it is mojo in the morning we're gonna play two versions of the five at 655 this morning you will hear the five at 655 and then you will hear a special version of the five at 655 a little later this morning when we have a special in-studio guest and that is the last 15 time champ that we had zach who is going to be coming in uh to play with us so his name eric or eric why did i say that everything is about zach today eric we're changing your name to zach But, yeah, so he'll play coming up later this morning. So that will be fun. And we'll have a good opportunity for everybody to kind of get to hear if Shannon knows her stuff because she has to take him on. And all the questions, by the way, are hard questions. They're all sports or hip-hop, R&B.

00:21:49 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm basically going to. That was always the joke.

00:21:51 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 3:

That was always the joke. I would always throw one sports question in there, and then I'd throw in some, like, hip-hop question in there because, for some reason, those were the only ones I could ever get Shannon on. Yes. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us. I can't believe we're a week away from Valentine's Day. It's kind of just crazy, isn't it? How the time just seems like it's flying. Like, I feel like we've gone from one holiday to another holiday because it seems like yesterday it was just Christmas. I literally just took my Christmas tree down. Actually, Chelsea and I just did.

00:22:22 - 00:22:26 | Speaker 4:

There are so many people in my neighborhood that still have their lights on and, like, outside.

00:22:26 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 3:

And still doing it. Oh, we have our lights on still. I'm not touching those. First off, I'm not touching those because I have to unplug them. And the only thing that, like, I'm waiting for them to, like, a short to happen and for the lights outside to go off or my, you know, snow. Like, my driveway is pure ice. Have you guys? Same. Like, I'm not kidding you. So yesterday I went to, like, 20 hardware stores, it seemed like. the Lowe's and the big box stores like Home Depot, but then I ended up going to the Ace Hardware that's down the street from my house, and then the Mom and Pop was a true value or whatever. I could not find salt. It's a salt shortage? I couldn't find salt, and I couldn't find dog-friendly because we have dogs, and our dogs hate it. But it's like, what do I do? Do I appease the dogs, or do I appease the Amazon driver that's about to fall and slip on his ass? It's crazy. Is it like

00:23:21 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 4:

treacherous how bad it is uh so my driveway we salted like the steps that go into the like the door that we use for the house the most the side door and we salted like the walkway for the male lady but their driveway is just i mean i i'm not joking i shuffle to my car see i did it yesterday morning i had to do it again today because it was still some of it melted a little

00:23:41 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 2:

bit but apartment living baby shout out to the landscaping crew they got that boy salted really

00:23:46 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 3:

nice and they were able to do it all because i'll tell you our parking lot here at the radio station And even though they went out and did all the salt in and stuff like that, I felt like walking to work today from the parking lot. I parked right up front.

00:23:58 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:23:59 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Did you ever feel bad about the fact that you take parking from it?

00:24:02 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't. Did you ever feel bad when you was calling me out for showing up late? Well, no. All right, then.

00:24:08 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 3:

So now that I'm early, when you're early, you can park where you want. What does one have to do with the other? Are you the guy that parks in the expectant mothers parking at the store?

00:24:16 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, of course not. Do we have any expectant mothers on the show? I'd love to know. Breaking news?

00:24:20 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 3:

No, but they have those parking spots for a reason. I always feel like I'm leaving those for the girls. Like, I actually thought about this. I thought when KP, when she was on her crutches, I'm thinking to myself, oh, maybe it might not be a bad idea to leave a space open for her. Be a gentleman.

00:24:35 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 2:

I saw KP pull in today, too.

00:24:37 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay.

00:24:38 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 2:

Her truck was too big to park where I parked her.

00:24:39 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 3:

And you took the spot.

00:24:41 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 2:

She couldn't have parked anyway. She would have been blocking the driveway with that big-ass truck she got.

00:24:44 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, you know what I need? Somebody needs to tell me how I can get this. When yesterday I was leaving here And I went to the DAC to go do that thing That talk They had a couple of cars parked on the side of the road And one of the cars said Official Detroit business

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 2:

and I had no idea what that sign was. It was on the guy's, his window. He had it on his passenger side window.

00:25:05 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 1:

At the DAC?

00:25:06 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 2:

No, it was, no, it's parked like in front of the Gem Theater.

00:25:09 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

00:25:10 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 2:

And I need somebody to, I don't know, what do they call it? They used to call it Xerox copy. What do they?

00:25:16 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 1:

Xerox! Remember that? They used to call it the copy.

00:25:17 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 2:

I need somebody to photocopy that for me. Kinko copy.

00:25:21 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 1:

Kinko's doesn't even exist anymore, you guys. No, it's FedEx Office.

00:25:25 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 2:

FedEx Office. I want you to FedEx Office. That's a long mouthful.

00:25:28 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 1:

For like a decade.

00:25:29 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 2:

But I want somebody to steal me one of those things because I want one of those. Like, I want that. Like, if there's anybody that now that we're working and we, for those who don't know, we now are downtown Detroit. Now that we're downtown Detroit, I need everything I can do that's shady to go along with what I like. I want that. I want the codes to, you know, the lots at the LCA for when I go to concerts. You know, I want I want the hidden stuff, you know, and what I'll do, I'll share with you whatever you got, whatever you want from us. Well, you know, I'll get you the secret codes to get good deals from Live Nation or something like that. Say less. I don't know. Those little things that they put inside the window, they don't really seem that official. They don't seem official at all. No, they're cops or something. I know, but to your point, it looks like something you can just make. Yeah, take a picture of it. Call me. If you're a Detroit police officer or, you know, a meter person, like whoever the parking attendant, will you call us up and tell us who are these people that have those things? Yeah. Because I really want one of those. Because can you imagine how great that would be? And my car already looks. I have a black Chevy Tahoe from Gordon Chevrolet. It already looks like it could be an official police business. Yeah. Like you got Whitmer in the back. I could. Or Mayor Duggan. You know? Maybe that's the thing I got to do. I got to ask him for that help.

00:26:46 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55. Yo, 5 at 6.55. Yo, now.

00:26:53 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to do the 5 at 6.55. Nick's going for his fourth in a row. Nick, you ready, buddy? I am. Good morning. Happy Friday. Happy Friday, man. It's good to have you on the show. Your challenger this morning. This is really funny. Lydia always gives me a little bit of information about them. I'll read it verbatim. He's from Novi, and he is currently packing a bowl to smoke. And he's the manager of a local casino. Please welcome Sean to the show.

00:27:25 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 1:

What up, Sean? Good morning, Sean. Good morning.

00:27:28 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 2:

Is that true? You're packing a bowl to smoke right now?

00:27:31 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 1:

The deed's been done.

00:27:33 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Are we, like, happy with the packing job that you did on that?

00:27:39 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it went really well.

00:27:41 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 2:

Smoking the reefer.

00:27:42 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations.

00:27:43 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

That's good. All right. Well, will you be smoking that after you get done with the 5 of 655?

00:27:48 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, before. Oh, no. I was doing that and I was studying.

00:27:53 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 2:

All right. Let's see what happens here. What was that noise? What was the do-do-do-do-do? I want to know with that. That was actually kind of good. I don't know. You know what? That actually kind of was kind of cool. It sounded like to me that that was him and his bust. The drug bust was happening. All right. We're locking you up in a soundproof area, Nick. We'll begin this contest. Know that the guy that you're taking on is under the influence of some stuff. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Tie goes to the champion. 00:29:44 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 2:

00:37:17 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 1:

Wait, since you were seven?

00:37:18 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, my mom and dad gave it to me for ADHD instead of Rhythmia. It's not a lie. I'm dead serious. Since I said they gave me two blunts, a lighter color book, and crayons and told me to leave me alone.

00:37:37 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Parents of the year.

00:37:39 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to be honest. I feel like you need to talk to somebody. Well, I mean, they did name the fate angels.

00:37:44 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 6:

How does our show sound to you? Do you like listening to Mojo in the morning?

00:37:48 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 7:

00:38:38 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing You've got to go all the way down the rabbit hole Sometimes we just get the comment Lydia really just said, Mo, don't move on

00:38:46 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that was bad. I know, that was one of those. I'll listen back to that on the podcast and wish that I would have gotten out of that one with the sweeper afterwards. Any last ones here, or am I good?

00:38:56 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 3:

I think we're good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're good.

00:38:59 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

When you get the hell out of Dodge, we got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning. Listen at 7.30 to get in on Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:10 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 6:

That's going to be one of those ones where later today I'll be listening to that one going, that actually was kind of funny.

00:39:15 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 2:

You ever do, like, the roller coaster where we're going up, we're going up, we're going up, and we quickly do that first drop? Yeah.

00:39:22 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 6:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Hey, I want to thank all you guys. Thank you guys for being supportive of yesterday's thing that I had to do at the DAC, but special thanks to Shannon and Megan. You guys came out there yesterday. It was awesome to have you there.

00:39:37 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so much fun. It was really fun.

00:39:39 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 6:

I had no idea what I was set to do. They asked me to come and speak at this thing at the DAC yesterday. It was, they have an organization called the Beavers. I did not know that the Beavers were a pool basketball league. Why not, man?

00:39:53 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 2:

Since the early 1900s. Yeah, it's crazy. Like, this has been a tradition in this town.

00:39:57 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 6:

Like 1920-something or something like that.

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:40:00 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 1:

it was um it was really a lot of fun it was weird seeing a bunch of men in speed but it was actually kind of it was fun having shannon and megan there because you would if i came and told you guys what

00:40:10 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 3:

it was about you never would have believed it no these guys were wild i'm talking like there was this area off of i don't know if i'm allowed to talk about some of this stuff but they're okay so they're they're like drinking and jumping in the pool and very very competitive with one another And then this, they, they lead us into this room where Mojo is supposed to be speaking and it's like fancy. It's like, there's like a beautiful buffet. There's all these long tables with wine. And then there's this, this podium where Mojo is going to speak and like a head table. And then there's a huge 40 foot tall blow up beaver in the corner. Just so.

00:40:50 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 1:

And the beauty is that if they don't like what you're saying, they'll boo you. Oh yeah. The guy who's the president of the club Or becomes the president of the club They actually take him off the podium In the middle of the thing And throw his ass in the pool

00:41:03 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 3:

And nobody's allowed to have phones So nothing can be recorded There's no evidence

00:41:08 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 1:

And so it was fun Talked about the show and stuff Everybody I think really enjoyed him themselves It was great You gave a great speech

00:41:16 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

And I was nervous for you Because I asked you yesterday morning I was like what are you going to talk about Do you have a speech written And you were like I don't really know yet Oh, my God. My anxiety is off the charts for you.

00:41:28 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 1:

My favorite was the only thing they booed was when I announced that, you know, Shannon was from Groceal and that Megan was from Toledo. They booed that Megan was from Ohio. Oh, really? Because this is a Detroit group of guys and Michigan guys.

00:41:40 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I'm so bummed you never bring up the fact that my family is from here. That's true. My dad was born and raised here.

00:41:46 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 1:

I know. Your dad would have been very, very proud to be amongst all these crazy men.

00:41:53 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 2:

My dad would fit in in that crowd. Like, I don't know, good analogy, a sock on a foot.

00:41:59 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 3:

Like, that would just work. And I have to tell you, Kev, all the guys, the majority of the guys, I would say 90% of the guys, were in bathrobes. Yes. For this entire time that we're there.

00:42:08 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm in formal outfits. I mean, like, hair, makeup, dresses, heels, next to naked man in a Speedo. Like, it was wild. With a bathrobe on. Yeah.

00:42:17 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 1:

But I do have to admit one thing. I was a very bad friend at one point. What did you do? Well, I did something to Shannon and that it was probably not so good.

00:42:26 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 2:

To be fair, we both were.

00:42:27 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It was, you ever go out with friends and you know how they always say never, what is in the military terms? It's never leave your brother behind or never leave a man behind or whatever the deal is. They have some kind of terms like that. I've heard it numerous times from buddies of mine that serve. and when you go out to a bar or go out to a club if you go out on a weekend you should never leave your friend behind like you should always make sure that everybody's accounted for anybody that goes with you got to go home with you because if they don't something bad's always going to happen

00:43:00 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 3:

well shannon does not know how to get out of a conversation oh no that's not true that's not

00:43:06 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

shannon and i could have been the worst friend ever because we're done with the whole thing doing the q a and all the rest of this stuff and at the end people were coming up and talking and it was got to a point where i knew we all had stuff to go do afterwards and we were talking to some people and some people were talking a little bit more and they wanted to talk more they wanted to talk more to shannon okay so there's there's the guys in the speedos and the ropes yeah yeah and i was like i think i'm out of here and i started walking out and i look and i can look

00:43:41 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 3:

see her face in her eyeballs light up no i was like this man there's one in particular he was very nice i couldn't tell you what he was talking to me about kev because i was panicked looking around going where did mojo go and it wasn't that i didn't know how to end a conversation i was actually backing up like walking backwards and he was still talking to me walking forward So, like, the social queue was just not there. And I was like, oh, I actually don't know how I finally got done with the conversation. And you guys weren't even in the air. Like, I didn't know where you were. You left me.

00:44:19 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were behind us. Because Mojo looked at me and he said, all right, girls, let's go. And I just started following him. So you're actually the bad friend. I absolutely. And I said it before he even told his story. Loop me in. Like, I'm falling on this sword, too. But I turned around when we got to the room where our jackets and our purses and our phones were, and you're just not there. And I immediately go, we've locked man down. We've locked him. And we're also having now a new conversation with new people that we're meeting. There's so many new people, and you can't just, like, walk away or say, oh, I've left somebody behind. And you walk in with this look on your face that said if I had a sharp object, it would be inside of your abdomen right now. This is how long I was in that room.

00:45:00 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 4:

The room got cleaned up, and the beaver got deflated. The beaver got deflated, and I was still in that room. That felt so bad.

00:45:07 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 2:

The guys were putting away chairs. Like, literally, the crew was, like, you know, stacking chairs and stuff. I want to ask this question because I know girls do this on girls' nights, but I know guys do this when they go out with their buddies. Have you ever left a friend behind or have ever been left behind? And if so, what happened to them or what happened to you? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, because it does remind me of one particular time when we all went to the iHeartRadio Music Festival, and we all went out, and I remember we were going out, and we were doing, like, different things, like going to the downtown casinos and going to some bars and things like that, and I remember we left Fletch, and it was like nobody knew where Fletch was, and it was, I think we all jumped into it. We're like, oh, he'll figure out how to get home.

00:45:55 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God, y'all are evil.

00:45:58 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 2:

And the next morning we were getting text messages because you know how you go, when you go to Vegas, you never go to bed at 10 o'clock at night. Never. You go to bed at like three in the morning, which is like five in the morning or six in the morning, you know, local time here. Yeah. And the text messages are all coming in going, you bastards. You left me behind. The poor guy like had no, he had no money with him. He had no phone. And you know, it's like, we think, oh, the guy's got Uber. He's got to have something. What's going on, Kelly? How you doing?

00:46:25 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 4:

hey what's going on good morning no one left behind kelly what's happening oh not much i was my um a person i work for was at the otters she's a female on the i guess basketball team or oh the beavers yes the otters is the female um water basketball yeah yep yeah she was telling me about it and she was saying that mojo is hilarious oh that was nice

00:46:54 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 2:

that was very nice actually it was weird because of there was there was you know the otters that were there and i'm looking out in the audience and i'm like looking i'm going oh my god i'm like saying some stuff that might not be the most appropriate of stuff but the the otters were just as having much fun as uh as everybody else so yeah i was gonna ask because she doesn't really

00:47:16 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 4:

have much of a social... I guess. I don't want to say she's not very social. Oh, really? So, it was very interesting. That she joins this club. Yeah. She's trying to get out. Good for her.

00:47:30 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. Good for her for doing that. They all look like they're having fun. It looks so fun. Yeah. Chris, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:47:38 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Hi. I just want to say for guys who leave people behind at the bar, especially military people because I just got out, they usually end up at someone else's house at an after party or at the MP station, and your first-line leader is calling you in the morning very upset.

00:47:56 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait, what is the motto, isn't it? No one left behind or something like that in the military?

00:48:02 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 3:

It's never leave a man behind or never leave your battle buddy behind, which I want to say you're a very bad battle buddy.

00:48:10 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 2:

I know. I'm picking Shannon up in the MP's office right now. Uh, what's going on? Voices guys, uh, initial a, what's happening. How are you? Good morning, Mojo. Hey, you're being voices guys. What's up?

00:48:24 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 1:

So I went out to a bar with my cousins and I got left behind. I was super drunk and decided I would try to walk three miles home. Oh my God. In my booth, I ended up taking them off somewhere along my route and ended up calling 911 to get home because it was like 20 degrees out and I was breathing. Oh, my God.

00:48:48 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 2:

What cousins? What kind of friends are those, man?

00:48:51 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

But why not call an Uber? I mean, well, I think I was too drunk to, like, think about that, but I just decided I was going to walk.

00:49:03 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 4:

And the police came and got you, and you got home safe and sound?

00:49:07 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I ended up calling non-emergency first, and they didn't show up. And I was freezing because I was barefoot.

00:49:14 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:49:15 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, you poor thing.

00:49:16 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 2:

Please tell me that's the last time you went out with that group.

00:49:19 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 4:

That's her family.

00:49:20 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 2:

I know. They tried to kill her. Yeah, what's up, Amber? Amber, you got left behind at Faster Horses?

00:49:29 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I'm partying, having a great time. My friends are bummed on a log, sitting at the campsite. They're like, we want to go home.

00:49:39 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 2:

We lost you there for a second. No, we're not. I'm sorry. Say that again. So your friends are sitting like a bump on a log, and they pick it up from there?

00:49:47 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So they're sitting at the campsite, bump on a log. They're saying, they want to go home. I'm not ready to go home because I'm having to go home.

00:49:55 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so this wasn't them leaving you behind. You actually want to go home.

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 1:

wandered and got, got away from them.

00:50:03 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, it's a, it's a three hour drive home that I had to find a ride.

00:50:08 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. That's not you though. That's not you. Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry.

00:50:12 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 5:

I know, but I mean, like you don't, you've got to fuck it up and you got to stay.

00:50:18 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 1:

At that point, you know what? You committed a crime by doing what you did. You should have gone home with them. Gina, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:50:26 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning.

00:50:28 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 1:

How are you? you actually went to the club and you lost your friends yes um so i went to orchid in ferndale

00:50:35 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 2:

a couple years back and my friend got lost in the crowd so we went to go look for her for about an hour when we came back and found her she was making out with some random dude with german

00:50:45 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 1:

lederhosen on god love orchid yeah oh my god this is a bad one here rachel hey what's happening and this is serious. What happened?

00:50:59 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so it was New Year's Eve, probably six, seven years ago at this point. We were at Eve at the Bob and had a VIP table. There was a bunch of us there as a group, and I was with my roommate, and ball drops, and I go to the bathroom, and I get a text. We're downstairs for the Uber. I go downstairs to go and find them, and they all had left. Oh, my God. So I go back upstairs and find my other friends that I had ran into. As the night goes on, I ended up getting roofied, and I had absolutely no idea how I got home. I fell down the stairs trying to leave and had a hematoma on my ass the size of a softball. Oh, my God. Got home the next morning, or got home at some point, woke up the next morning and was like, what the?

00:51:47 - 00:51:48 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

00:51:48 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you for stopping. Wow. I mean, I would say that, too.

00:51:52 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 5:

It was insane.

00:51:54 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 1:

Why would they leave you there, though?

00:51:56 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 5:

Of course, she didn't even care. Oh. And I asked her the next morning, like, why did you leave me behind? She goes, oh, I just thought you wanted to stay. We're not friends with her anymore, right? No, we sure aren't. Good. That's terrible.

00:52:10 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. And that's the reason why you do not leave somebody behind. Although these next two stories are kind of funny. Haley, your mom left you behind. What happened?

00:52:20 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so my whole life I always kind of wandered off in the stories because I have ADHD. But when I was about 16 years old, me and my mom were at Walmart. And I told her I was going to start wandering. And then she messaged me two hours later, and I was, like, panicking and crying. And she was like, Haley, where are you? I'm at the store. What do you mean? Where are you? And I guess she was at home. She had left me at the store for about a while. Oh, my God.

00:52:47 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Your mom. That's crazy. Oh, my God. That's funny. and last but not least ryan guess who the person you guys will never guess who

00:53:00 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 3:

ryan left behind and where go ahead ryan okay so about 15 years ago we did a family trip to italy um we there's probably about 20 of us kids aunts uncles everything we all went to the vatican and my grandmother got left behind oh no at the vatican Yeah, so eventually we, you know, we wandered out. There's only one way in, one way out, and she's wandering around in there. My dad lost track of her, and after two hours in the, you know, blistering heat, we kind of like called it quits, and my dad said, you know what? She's Italian. She speaks the language. She has currency on her. She'll figure it out.

00:53:41 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. Grandma. He said it. Was it his mama?

00:53:48 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It was his mom? Can you imagine if it was his mother-in-law? That's unbelievable. By the way, he's going to hell. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. We're going to give you a chance to win a trip to Florida. So it'll be our fifth and last qualifier right now for a trip to spring break in Panama City Beach. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. 95th caller. Win a $50 cash card and qualify for a trip to Florida. It's Zach's birthday today.

00:54:19 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it sure is.

00:54:19 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 1:

And, Zach, we told you we were going to bring some ladies in for you today. Look at these guys. Hello, ladies. Let's go. By the way, let me just say this to you. Zach is a single guy, obviously, good-looking man. He's always at any of our events flirting with everybody. I'm going to tell you this. There has not been two female women that have ever put a smile on his face bigger than what you guys are going to do this morning because guess what? Guess where they're from? I don't know. Show those polos, ladies.

00:55:00 - 00:55:06 | Unknown:

There's more. There's more.

00:55:07 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 3:

Another one.

00:55:10 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 8:

Another one. Come on over here, ladies. Personal McDelivery. Tell me your names.

00:55:17 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 6:

What are your names?

00:55:18 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 8:

My name is Dominique, and I'm with BET Management for McDonald's.

00:55:20 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 6:

Nice to talk to you. And who are you?

00:55:23 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 8:

My name is Sharon, and I am with McDonald's BET Management as well. Yes!

00:55:27 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so real quick. Like, you guys are at the McDonald's. Where's the McDonald's that's the closest to us here at the Eastern Market Studio?

00:55:35 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 8:

Like Zach said, right there on Mac and I-75. Oh, you know where it is.

00:55:38 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 6:

24 hours, by the way. Wait, do you ever see this guy? Because he always sends text messages. I'm going to be a little late today. I'm going to McDonald's. It won't open until 5.30.

00:55:46 - 00:55:49 | Speaker 8:

I don't think I'll wake up so early for Zach, but I'll make sure that I wake up now to see you.

00:55:50 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 6:

Can I ask an honest question? Because I have a friend of mine that has over 150,000 points right now in his McDonald's app. Have you seen anybody like that? Have you ever seen?

00:56:00 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 8:

I have. Some people I've seen, like, 2,000. Are you serious? Yes, they love McDonald's, and we love them. Where's your points right now? Where's your points? You've got to be, like, 20,000 right now.

00:56:11 - 00:56:16 | Speaker 5:

I was at 20,000, and then they expire if you don't use your app. Use it. Don't use them.

00:56:17 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 8:

How do you not use them? They're there all the time.

00:56:19 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 5:

You take 5.30 in the morning, Shannon. I forget where I'm at.

00:56:21 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 8:

Well, we know that you're a McDonald's lover, so we know those points are going to come back up real quick. That's right. Stand by. Here comes mine.

00:56:26 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 6:

I'm not sharing any of this with you, by the way. Let's see what I got here today. Hold on. Look at that. 3,114. Redeem those. What am I getting? What am I getting? I'm going to get a lot of good stuff. You guys are the best. Thank you guys so much. We love you guys.

00:56:42 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, seriously. Thank you. Give me a hug. Give me a hug. Ba-da-ba-ba-ba.

00:56:45 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 6:

Wait.

00:56:46 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 7:

Sandwich Zach.

00:56:48 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 6:

Give Zach a McDonald's sandwich. By the way, guess what? Shamrock Shake is back. Yay! I love it. I dip my fries in the shamrock shake. Oh, yeah, I do. I do. Believe me. I'll dip a Big Mac in a shamrock shake if I can.

00:57:06 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 7:

You know how they have those special McDonald's meals like Travis Scott has had one, Angel Reese has one? What would be the Zach meal?

00:57:13 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 4:

Double cheeseburger plain, but obviously with cheese and onion, and then large fry, and then a large Dr. Pepper. Oh.

00:57:23 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 3:

You've got to get working on this. All I can say is

00:57:30 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 6:

Remember when you were a kid And your parents would have your birthday be at a McDonald's It was the greatest thing ever

00:57:35 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 2:

The magic McDonald's in Ellen Park

00:57:38 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 6:

To me There ain't no better birthday than that That is the best We love you guys Thank you so much Thank you Mojo in the mornings Dirty on the 30 All right, Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the 30. Feel free to hang out if you'd like, ladies. Shannon, we've got a big weekend in store. There's a lot of people talking about some football game that the Lions aren't playing in, unfortunately.

00:58:05 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, the NFL celebrating another year of excellence last night at the NFL Honors in New Orleans. This year's MVP, Josh Allen, quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.

00:58:15 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 6:

Ooh, that's a great pick. Yeah, I disagree.

00:58:18 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 7:

If you look at the stats, Lamar Jackson has more yards.

00:58:22 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 4:

The AP most valuable player presented by Invisalign is Josh Allen. Josh Allen.

00:58:30 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 7:

Lamar, listen, it's not a bad pick. He had a great year. But if we're basing it on who had the better performance as a quarterback, who had more yards? Lamar. Who had more completions? Lamar. Who had more touchdowns? Lamar. Who had less interceptions? Lamar. Every statistical category as a quarterback, Lamar was better than him at.

00:58:47 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 6:

This guy never can be happy. Never can be happy.

00:58:49 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, Dan Campbell was the one who I thought got absolutely robbed. Coach of the year went to, not Coach Campbell, but to Kevin O'Connell of the Vikings.

00:58:59 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm also not mad at that.

00:59:01 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 7:

You're not mad at that? I'm not. You think that's a good bet? I'm not. Yes. Here's why. The Lions had higher expectations than the Minnesota Vikings this year.

00:59:08 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 6:

They had a million injuries.

00:59:09 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Yes, for sure. I'm not saying Dan Campbell shouldn't have won. All I'm saying is I'm not mad at it. If you look at where the Minnesota Vikings were projected at, they far and away exceeded where people had them. They had Sam Darnold as their quarterback. Nobody expected them to win as many games. That's all I'm saying. I'm not mad at them.

00:59:25 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 2:

AP Assistant Coach of the Year going to Ben Johnson, the former Lions offensive coordinator and comeback player of the year, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Snoop Dogg had hosting duties and took aim at Bill Belichick's much younger girlfriend, Jordan Hudson.

00:59:40 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 1:

It is an honor to be hosting this Because I've been a football fan for a long, long time. I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. I remember back when the Chiefs was bad. Right. And I remember... What was it? Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet.

01:00:05 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Now, is she his girlfriend or is she his fiance? Because did you guys notice she showed up wearing one of his Super Bowl rings on her middle finger. But then she was wearing like a huge, it looked to me like a pink diamond ring on her engagement ring finger. I couldn't figure it out.

01:00:23 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, and can we give a quick little shout out to a local guy who's down on the coaching staff for the Lions?

01:00:27 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:00:28 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 5:

Bruce Garkowski is now the offensive assistant coach for the Lions.

01:00:33 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 3:

Really? And how do we know him? How do I know him?

01:00:34 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 4:

So he played at the University of Toledo, and then he played in the NFL. He played for the Steelers, a whole bunch of other teams. He's coached locally in the Toledo area for the past couple of years, has a couple of restaurants in Toledo, and now he's going to be with the Lions.

01:00:47 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever look at the history of University of Toledo with football coaches? I mean, you've got Nick Saban. You've got, I think, the McVeigh brothers were somehow involved. There's a whole bunch. The Harbaugh's. Yeah, the Harbaugh's. There's a long list. I think Central, CMU and University of Toledo, UT, have huge amounts of alumni coaches that are now college or NFL coaches, which is amazing.

01:01:15 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of football and the NFL, Kendrick Lamar says he will put rap culture on the forefront during his performance at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night.

01:01:25 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 1:

It reminds me of the essence and the core response of rap and hip-hop and how far it can go. So for me, that means everything because it puts the culture on the forefront where it needs to be and not minimize to just a catchy song or verse. This is a true art form. So to represent it on this type of stage, it's like everything that I've worked for and everything that I believe in as far as the culture. Like, I live and die by it. This is going to change my whole family life, so I don't take it for granted at all.

01:02:02 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 2:

He's going to cram his entire musical catalog into a 13-minute performance while the Chiefs and the Eagles players are in their respective locker rooms. The big question everybody's wondering, is he going to do this song?

01:02:11 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Oh, he has to. But does he start with it or does he end with it?

01:02:14 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, they're saying that, you know, this song has caused for Drake to sue a lot of operations, a lot of music people. I think iHeart's even being involved in this thing. There's talk that the NFL doesn't want to get involved in a whole Drake lawsuit and that Drake will sue because this song is slanderous to him.

01:02:34 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 4:

Do you think Kendrick cares?

01:02:36 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think the NFL does, and that's the thing. Don't you think the NFL is pretty buttoned up when it comes to making sure that they're not involved in certain things?

01:02:43 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 2:

Now, Barstool is reporting that 100% Kendrick has this on his set list for Sunday.

01:02:48 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I like those.

01:02:50 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Kanye West asked President Trump to pardon his buddy Diddy last night in a tweet on X tagging the president. Ye wrote, please free my brother Puff. He continued, and I'm going to paraphrase this first part of it because it was not appropriate. He basically said, all of these celebrities, y'all watch our brother rot and never say spit. We all watched Chris Brown and ain't nobody do nothing. Yeezy, Sean, John collab available at Yeezy.com. Me and Plouffe are splitting this 50-50 like we discussed before they locked him up.

01:03:28 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 3:

They said that he went on another rant, too, that a lot of people said, some people said there's some anti-Semitic stuff, too.

01:03:34 - 01:03:44 | Speaker 2:

So, I haven't watched the video yet, but I know he FaceTimed one of Diddy's sons. Yeah, Christian. I haven't watched that this morning. I saw it come through, but maybe it's during that.

01:03:45 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. He's one of those ones like Britney. They got to take his devices away from him. Like, it's like your teenage kid, where you can't have your teenage kid with devices there. What are we doing, Zach? Are we sharing?

01:03:56 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What is it? What do you got? You got some hash browns in there? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Egg McMuffins. Oh, slimy egg. Do they got strawberry jelly?

01:04:03 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Zach, quick question for you, Zach. What is your McDonald's go-to? Like, what do you usually get when you go to McDonald's?

01:04:12 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 5:

It depends on how drunk I am.

01:04:14 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Or, like, hungover. Yeah. Or stoned. I like a good 10-piece with barbecue sauce. That sounds good. I love some nuggies. They're my favorite. Good happy dinner. And a large fry. Excellent. Large fries, by the way, are never too large. Gotta have a large fry. Gotta go large.

01:04:32 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 2:

Courtney, when is the last time that your body has felt 70-degree weather and sunshine?

01:07:28 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 2:

um i've lived in michigan my whole life so like what last summer so it's been a while huh when was the last time i enjoyed it though probably like um 10 years ago the last one and where are we from i am from down river i love it thank you for listening to us we love you

01:07:51 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

hopefully uh you're able to take this trip uh fast talk to the visit florida people and figure it out because the weather's getting bad again so we're going to have some really i even though it seems like it's bad but it felt like 40 degrees was going to be really nice and then it was like one day of 40 degrees uh congratulations to you i want you to hang on the phone for just one second

01:08:09 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 2:

okay awesome thank you love you guys so much hold on one second uh lydia i got uh i got topics here

01:08:19 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 1:

and i'm backed up a little bit uh do you want me to just stay with the flow or do you want me to Because I know sometimes when I run late, I always end up missing somebody's topic, and I don't want to miss. Because I've got topics here coming up from Kevin, Shannon, Bianca, and Megan. Which one am I going with next, Lydia? Why don't we do Bianca? Let's do Bianca's next. We're going to do Bianca's next. She just walked past to Zach. Zach, if you can hear me, tell Bianca to come back to the studio. All right, Bianca's going to come back to the studio. While Bianca comes back into the studio, let me just tell you that the throwback throwdown for $500 is coming up here in just a matter of moments. Stick around for an opportunity to win $500 courtesy of our friends at Imagine Theaters. Our good buddy, Paul Glanz, wants you to know you can see all the Oscar-nominated big movies at the Imagine Theaters and, of course, have some fun. Get inside when it's cold outside. Head over to the Imagine Theaters and we love you guys so much. That's happening in just a little bit. Last week's winner in the throwback throwdown was none other than Megan Mick, everybody. Yep. I don't know why I'm talking like a game show host today.

01:09:28 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

01:09:29 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

But Megan Mick won the throwback throwdown last week. Will Shannon get her first on the board in 2025? We got to find out. All right. It's Mojo on the morning show. So for those that don't know, Bianca, she is one of our great associates here. She is a producer, on-air talent, real estate agent, we found out.

01:09:49 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 2:

Jack of all trades.

01:09:52 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and Bianca is doing something very interesting. She's taking applications for a Valentine this year. What's the story?

01:10:01 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 4:

So I was just thinking, I'm like, if I've been talking to a guy in the last couple weeks, you know, I'm talking to a couple, I guess, but if I'm talking to you and we're texting and you're asking me to hang out, I'm expecting a Valentine's gift from you, or at least something. Just for talking? Yeah. Like, what are you expecting? Like, a box of chocolates, maybe a card.

01:10:20 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so flowers.

01:10:20 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 4:

A flower, a flower, even, I don't even know.

01:10:23 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 3:

So how many bouquets of flowers could you potentially get next week?

01:10:26 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 4:

Maybe like five, six, I don't know. I feel like a little bachelorette right now, I'm not going to lie. But, I mean, five is better than one, right?

01:10:34 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 3:

Are you making this known to these guys that you're talking to that this is an expectation?

01:10:38 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, kind of. I'm like, hey, like they're asking me to hang out. All right, where are we going for Valentine's Day?

01:10:42 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 3:

How are you going to juggle five different or six different dudes in one day? There's 24 hours in a day.

01:10:46 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 4:

There's five. Bianca. At least two hours for one. That's 10 hours.

01:10:50 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

Are you going to give them also Valentine's Day?

01:10:52 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 4:

That's for Sweetest Day.

01:10:53 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we talked about this yesterday. We talked about this yesterday. This is baloney. First off, Sweetest Day is a fake made-up holiday.

01:11:00 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 4:

So is Valentine's Day then. Nope. Valentine's for the girls.

01:11:03 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 1:

So this is interesting. Are there any other people that do something like this? Like they throw all their balls up in the air and see which ones they're going to land with?

01:11:11 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Like I'm probably going to have five different cuisines on Valentine's Day. We're going to go to a Mexican restaurant, maybe a Chaldean restaurant. Right.

01:11:16 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

If we're just talking, I'm not about to throw you. It depends on the level that we're talking. If you're just one of these random, like I'm going to just heat you up in a text message line, you cannot expect anything.

01:11:25 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 4:

Why not?

01:11:26 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 2:

Because that's not the nature of our relationship.

01:11:28 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 4:

If I'm texting you every day, you could be my Valentine. Every day? Yeah, we're texting all the time. We're Snapchatting. Like, yeah.

01:11:34 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Has this worked before for you? Like, have you had this?

01:11:36 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm trying it out this year. You're trying it out this year. This is a test. This is a test. I love you. Is it interesting?

01:11:42 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 1:

We'll see. Will the guy who gives you the best of the gifts get the dinner reservation that night? Or, like, how do you decide on who gets what?

01:11:50 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I'll hang out with him post-dinner, too. We'll see. Oh. The best one.

01:11:53 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh. We'll see. I don't even want to think about that. Your dad's listening and he's a friend. I don't want to hear any of this crap. I'm just kidding. Okay, so this is an interesting thing because I feel like this is a manipulative way that women handle Valentine's Day.

01:12:10 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 3:

Get into it.

01:12:11 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 1:

Is by doing this stuff.

01:12:12 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 3:

Don't say women.

01:12:13 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 1:

Women.

01:12:14 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 3:

Bianca. Yeah.

01:12:15 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 1:

No, because women. I think Bianca is not the only person that does this. I think that there are a lot of people.

01:12:22 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 4:

I think Kev's doing it too.

01:12:23 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 1:

Kev not doing that. Kev's not buying a gift for anybody. Are you this Valentine's Day? Nope. No, no Valentine's. Although Kev does. Really? You got a smile on your face.

01:12:34 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 2:

That strawberry jelly just hit from the McDonald's. You are lying.

01:12:39 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Wait until I get throwback songs or something playing here in a second before you guys eat.

01:12:43 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. No, every single time I talk to Kev, he's the new girl he's talking to. Relax.

01:12:48 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Can we stay on topic here? No, Bianca, keep going. So, Kev, how many girl has you have? Can you relax? Let's not do this. I don't have one.

01:12:56 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 3:

You're truly not getting anybody anything for Valentine's Day. Truly.

01:13:00 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Because you'll mix them all up? No, no, no. I'm not buying anybody anything.

01:13:05 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, by the way, truth be told on this one, is checking on the safety of women. That's why he's doing this.

01:13:15 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm a safety patroller.

01:13:17 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 1:

So can I give out a little bit of his dirt? How did you get here? Love it. After the show is over with, everybody goes and spurs off and, you know, either takes a moment to kind of catch their breath or they go get some other work done and stuff. Kevin goes to the bullpen area, which is right over here. He sits down with his phone and he's on FaceTime randomly talking to, like, another person, it seems like. It's like, whatever. And he's having these conversations with them. And the problem is, as you get closer to Valentine's Day, those girls are probably thinking what Bianca's thinking, that you're going to get them something.

01:13:50 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:13:51 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 1:

You better be careful.

01:13:52 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 3:

But you haven't even gone out on a date with any of those girls, have you? All right, Bianca.

01:13:58 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Maybe a concert or two. Do you know last week I went to the Pistons game? And I said to him, I go, hey, man, maybe after the Pistons game we can all go hang out. I was hanging out with Anthony Laverde. He goes, no, I'm going to a club with somebody. I'm like, okay, if you're going to a club with a guy or buddies, you're inviting buddies with. Unless he doesn't want two dorky white dudes to come with him. but maybe we should just could have been okay it's me and Anthony

01:14:23 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 2:

gone so Bianca um how are you

01:14:25 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 3:

honestly so if if one of these guys doesn't this by the way does it fulfill your expectation

01:14:31 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

the best kept topic

01:14:32 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 2:

it's not

01:14:33 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 3:

if one of these guys doesn't get you anything are they out of the mix is that it

01:14:37 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 4:

yeah honestly like honestly at this point too my standards are so high if a guy texts me past 10 p.m. starts texting me I'm not gonna answer you like a guy texted me yesterday at 10 p.m. I was like stop talking to me that I like by the way yeah so if you're not gonna meet my expectation and at least get me a box of chocolates or something.

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 1:

And if you answer a guy back after 10 p.m.

01:14:54 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 4:

Then I'm lowering my standards.

01:14:55 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, really, or that guy's special.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

You are setting an expectation. Yeah.

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 6:

But that's okay.

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 1:

So you would never text any guy back after 10?

01:15:03 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Even if it was a guy that you wanted to do?

01:15:04 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 6:

Unless I really, really like him. Okay. I'm saying when... Make it official.

01:15:07 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 2:

Is that if he didn't talk to you throughout the entire day? Yeah. And then he just... Okay.

01:15:11 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's no good behavior.

01:15:14 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Teresa? Hi.

01:15:17 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 6:

Bianca. Hey, it's Teresa. Hey, you guys. Oh, my God. What up, girl? How you doing? How do we know Teresa? She's like my sister.

01:15:23 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Teresa?

01:15:26 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I was just going to say that, Bianca, you should definitely do it. It's like a test. Just like Shannon said, if they don't give you anything, drop them. Exactly. Exactly.

01:15:33 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. Do you also, Teresa, are you single or are you in a relationship?

01:15:37 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm in a relationship.

01:15:39 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 1:

Okay. What do you think of Bianca's thing? That's an interesting little thing. She will not text a guy back after 10 p.m. And he should not text her.

01:15:47 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 6:

I think that's fair in the talking stage. Because what, like, I don't know. What do they want after 10 p.m. is the question. Exactly. Unless you're planning the Valentine's Day, I don't want it.

01:15:56 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 1:

What if you're working? Bye, Teresa. What's up, Marlene? How you doing?

01:16:00 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, everyone.

01:16:01 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Marlene. Oh, this is, wait, hold on a second.

01:16:04 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 7:

This is my favorite.

01:16:05 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 1:

This is Marlene that always has a very interesting take. Go ahead, Marlene.

01:16:11 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 7:

Okay. You know, I'm all about living your best life, girl. Live your best life. But this is why it's hard to find a good man because they're taking advantage of for gifts and food and all that kind of stuff. Because if you were a male saying that you're going to get all the girls to buy you a birthday present, you would be getting ran through the mud right now. Preach, Marlene.

01:16:35 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 6:

This is just a season. It's just for the season. I'm not normally like this. It doesn't matter, sweetheart.

01:16:41 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 1:

This is mouthy Marlene.

01:16:42 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 2:

If it's a goose, it's a goose.

01:16:44 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 7:

Hey!

01:16:45 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 2:

Lucy Goosey.

01:16:47 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 1:

Marlene, though, she's putting it out there a little bit, and she's just trying to see what sticks. You know what I mean? You've got to throw some stuff at the wall and see what's attached.

01:16:55 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 7:

You know, to be a true player, you let them all know, and you let them know whoever gives the best gifts is the winner. And then you might get more, but at least you want it. So do I make a group chat with all of them?

01:17:06 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would. That would be amazing if you can pull that thing off. Carla, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. What would you rather talk about, Bianca in this whole thing with all these guys or Kevin in Izzy's talking to people? Go ahead. You choose.

01:17:21 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 5:

01:18:35 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 5:

What is all good, Kim?

01:18:36 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 6:

I can't.

01:18:38 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't know. I have no words. God bless you.

01:18:42 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 5:

Kim, let's be honest. Without Friday, we wouldn't need them. Time to look for a good plan B, buddy.

01:18:48 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? We love you, Nichelle. Thank you for bringing it up. One last one. Jacqueline, what's going on?

01:18:57 - 01:19:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I think she is totally on point with it. Listen, I do some group text sometimes and I say who's a show up and who's a show off. So you've got to really show who these guys are.

01:19:09 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I just learned the game and I'm playing it 10 times harder. That's it.

01:19:12 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's actually a great line to steal. Ah, see that? So it's not that bad out there. It's how your perspective is. Is that what you're saying, Jacqueline?

01:19:22 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. A lot of these dudes just want pictures from you. They just want to never meet you. They just want someone to give them attention on the phone. They need to show up. Wait, so how is that an easy world for us to be dating in? It's not easy. I never said that part. It's not easy. I'm telling you, I've been through the ringer.

01:19:41 - 01:19:44 | Speaker 1:

But you're saying you own it and you be confident with it?

01:19:46 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. I got one guy now. We're going away for the weekend. I'm like, this guy's showing up. You know what I mean? I've been talking to him for a while. It took me six months to get him to this point.

01:19:54 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 1:

Where are you guys going?

01:19:56 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

We're going to Houghton Lake.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right.

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 2:

He's from Ice Fishing and Hot Tubbing.

01:20:03 - 01:20:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh. His name's not Kev, is it? Oh. Yeah.

01:20:10 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 5:

01:21:02 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 4:

I loved it personally.

01:21:03 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 3:

I loved every minute of it. You know what? That's going to be his weekend. The whole weekend, this guy is going to be home studying. He's going to be listening to more music.

01:21:14 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

I think I just realized I'd like to fight somebody. You do. Maybe it was the kickboxing class. I like to fight.

01:21:21 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 3:

We're going to give you Katy Perry tickets right now. Just before we get to the Dirty, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The 95th caller is going to win a pair of tickets to see Katy Perry on August the 3rd at Little Caesars Arena. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com. Well, coming up in just a little bit, did you ever forge your parents' signature? Shannon's going to talk about that coming up in just a matter of moments. Right now, we're going to get you caught up on what's trending, Shannon. What do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:22:03 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 1:

So, as a Belieber myself, I echo this sentiment from other Beliebers and what they're posting online. Have you guys seen any photos of Justin from, like, the past couple of weeks? No.

01:22:12 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 4:

I saw a video of him.

01:22:14 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay. He does not look healthy, like, at all. And fans are worried that something might be going on. He has been pictured just not looking well. Very fatigued. His eyes are dark and hollow. just really seems distant and a few you know whenever a story like this comes out and fans are concerned all of like the board certified plastic surgeons and therapists like everybody wants to come out even if they're not treating him and none of these people i'm about to talk about are but they want to give their opinion there's one plastic surgeon's name's dr barty and he said the most noticeable changes in bieber's look a receding hairline i know you're looking at photos right loss of volume in his face he looks very gaunt development of wrinkles he has major dark circles and he said those changes can be attributed to several things natural aging stress bad nutrition weight loss prolonged poor sleep and then there's a psychiatrist named dr lieberman she's also a really famous author but she believes that justin's worsening look could also be due to this media friend frenzy over diddy who was a former friend of a mentor of justins and saying like maybe this is all just weighing on him big time but did you look at

01:23:27 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 4:

pictures are you looking at no i don't want to kill the story he was recently seen at a guy named chris brinkley he's a very well-known trainer in the basketball community he has a popular gym in new york that a lot of people go to bieber was reportedly there yesterday getting some shots up i saw a video of that but i didn't see a great thing like hopefully yeah we need new

01:23:48 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

music from you, Justin. Yeah, we do.

01:23:50 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of new music, the wait is finally over. Kind of, sort of. We did get some new music from Rihanna. Now, it is technically not new. It's a cover of Belinda Carlisle's Heaven is a Place on Earth, one of my favorite songs. But Rihanna taking over for Katy Perry and Demi Lovato as the new Smurfette in the latest Smurfs movie. Really?

01:24:12 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 5:

To save their world, they must come for two hours. Whoa, where are we? It's Paris.

01:24:22 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 3:

And that's Rihanna doing the song?

01:24:24 - 01:24:25 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:24:26 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 1:

And that's also her voice.

01:24:29 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 3:

Ah, I like, well, this is not, this is Belinda Carlisle on this one.

01:24:32 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 1:

I love this song, too. I love this song, too.

01:24:34 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if this song will become like a hit, kind of, how some of these movies.

01:24:39 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 1:

Handmaid's Tale used it like two years ago, and I kind of saw a little resurgence.

01:24:44 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, I don't know if you noticed, but the trend right now is to take a very popular song from 20 to 30 years ago, change almost nothing, and then call it new, baby.

01:24:54 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. My son who's in college, Luke, all of his friends, all they listen to are like,

01:25:00 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 2:

I like the songs from, like, when, honestly, even before I was listening to music and stuff like that. Like, I couldn't believe it. Like, Luke's friends from college liked the band Boston, which there was that song, More Than a Feeling. No, it's a little bit rockier than Yacht Rock.

01:25:17 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm saying, like, aren't they all into Yacht Rock?

01:25:20 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so, because I think it's too slow for them. But they like, like, that 70s and, like, 80s, like, Ario Speedwagon and things like that. Stop it. It's crazy. Interesting.

01:25:29 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 1:

A great big congratulations this morning to Darid and Kristen Goff. She debuted a cute little baby bump at the NHL Honors last night. Darid Goff. Do you think when they have sex? Baby Goff. We got to switch it. Do they chant that? Baby Goff this summer. Yes.

01:25:43 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Baby Goff.

01:25:44 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he said he did a, they did an exclusive interview with People Magazine Online and he just said he's so excited about becoming a dad. It had to be fun. So, you know what, at the hospital when you have a baby, they push a button and it plays over the PA system, like a lullaby?

01:25:57 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 3:

What if it was the forward down the field when the baby is born?

01:26:02 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 2:

That'd be hilarious. They should have Theo in the delivery room. Oh, my gosh. And then when the baby is born, there comes Theo out there saying it.

01:26:11 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, trendy tweens are now hosting their birthday parties at Sephora. And I did not think this was a thing that you could, I don't think most Sephora, most Sephoras, excuse me, allow you to host a birthday party. I guess some of them do. You can get your hair done. You could get your makeup done. A lot of the stores that do this, though, the employees have issues with this parties, whether they're happening before, during or after store hours, because, of course, like it's like right there in the middle of the store where those big vanity mirrors are. And if you haven't been in a Sephora lately, they are butts to nuts or butts to vaginas because it's usually a lot of girls. That sounded bad when it came out. But yeah, so that's a thing now.

01:26:56 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 2:

I would like to go on record, please, to say the Sephora people are not very friendly. The people that work in Sephora are not friendly. The Ulta people are way more friendly than Sephora people.

01:27:08 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 1:

I do agree with you on that. I agree with that take for sure.

01:27:10 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 2:

I feel like maybe it's the outfits they have to wear. Maybe it's a little too much. I don't know.

01:27:15 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 1:

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 4:

Especially when they do something mischievous.

01:30:03 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, good word.

01:30:04 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 4:

That was a good word. Thank you. Shannon Lucy, what's going on?

01:30:09 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 3:

I get a FaceTime from my sweet girl yesterday. This is her dad's week to have her. So I love when I see that little icon pop up that she is FaceTiming me. And she is in a panic because she had to fill out her class schedule requests for middle school. Which blows my mind. um but yeah it needed a it needed a parent's signature signature and a phone number and her dad i i don't think her dad was home at the time and she's like me if there's something that's due she wants it done like right then right at that that very moment um and so we went through her schedule and then she's like well and she got to the end she's like it needs a signature and a phone number and she i could see she had already filled out my phone number she's showing this to me on FaceTime and she was like mom can I just forge your signature I know how to do it and I was like you do because I have to sign her little like weekly or actually every day the planner yeah I remember those and so she was like I was like well I'm like okay fine like this isn't that important whatever and so she's like okay let me practice so she got a pencil and she like practice it a couple times and she kept showing me after every time that she practiced it is it like this is it like this and i was like okay lou and then finally it was good enough and she went and got the pen and made it legit on her middle school was it was it good it was pretty good but you want to know the funny thing about it it actually was really really good is that she got used to signing my initials sm and i'm now sw like my my signature is just like a scribble of like right it was sm obviously now it's sw because i changed my name to west's last name and so she kept signing it sm and i'm like no no no you got to practice the sw now it's a little different she had a tougher a little bit of a tougher time but i got it done but it was so funny because i it brought me back to elementary and middle school where i had that dang planner yeah and my mom would always for even if i put it out on the kitchen counter she would forget to sign it and we would get in trouble if we didn't have the signature so i knew perfectly how to make my mom's very loopy cursive signature so that I wasn't in trouble at school.

01:32:20 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 4:

How awesome is it to know that your kid is going to get themselves out of all the trouble ever and you're never going to find out that they're in trouble because she can do it. You know, it's funny. I had my dad's signature down. Like my dad was good because my dad was a doctor.

01:32:35 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

Was it just a scribble?

01:32:35 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 4:

It was scribbled. And I told the story before on the air, but Tom Barrett, who never went to school at all for one full year because I wrote him doctor's notes with my dad's and I actually looked in one of my dad's my dad had medical books in the house I looked up I could should be a doctor thinking about this I looked up in one of his medical books what would be the medical terms for like he has diarrhea and stuff like that and so I I found the medical terms for it and I wrote the medical terms and everything that was out there and the doctors or the the front office people in the school would have let them out of the things. So it was the best. But are there any people whose parents you've ever, like, forged when you were a kid, you know, in school, you forged your parents' stuff? And what was the thing, what was the, like, worst thing that you were able to not have to let them know about because you could forge? You never did your mama's name?

01:33:29 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 2:

I feel like maybe, but I can't remember for real. Yeah, I can't remember. Does Josiah ever do yours? No, not that I'm aware of. Not that you're aware of me, no. Like Lucy. Joe's probably good. Joe, he's, Joe's good. Yeah, he, I don't know. Probably not even that school today.

01:33:46 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 4:

Come on. You know what he's doing. Do you know that Josiah is going to do something like this? And the day you find out about it, you're going to be proud of it. I know it sounds weird. You're going to yell at them for doing it. Yeah. Like, I would yell at my kids when they would do something, and Chelsea would yell at them for doing something. But then we would look at each other and go, God, that's so fun that we did the same thing. You know what I mean? That they would pull some kind of crap off. Tasha, what's going on? How you doing? Good. Did you do this when you were younger?

01:34:13 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 1:

Actually, yeah. I used to practice my mom's curse of ease, but my daughter also, she texts my, or she did my signature all the time.

01:34:23 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:34:23 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Like, I would be sleeping, and they'd be like, I need this sign. I'm like, take it to your sister. That's good.

01:34:32 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 4:

That is the best, isn't it, when you find out that your kids are doing that?

01:34:36 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'm like, yeah, please, just go sign it. Leave me alone.

01:34:39 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny? My brother was so good at my dad's signature, too. I remember my dad didn't know that my brother failed an entire class. And the school said to him during one of the parent-teacher conferences, they're like, well, we were sending things home, and you were signing them. And he was like, let me see. And my dad's like, what? Maybe I did sign. My dad thought that they were his signature. That's crazy. But everybody had it down.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Heather, what's going on?

01:35:03 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 1:

My dad's signature was so messy that my teacher accused me of forging his signature and called him to make sure he really signed the paper. That's funny.

01:35:13 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't it be funny if your dad actually had to take a class? Do they still teach, like, penmanship and things like that in school, or is that, like, an old... They try to teach cursive, but, like, for what? It is wild that that's not even a thing anymore. But why? Why does it need to be a thing? It shouldn't be. But I think it's beautiful. I think it's, like, pretty and stuff.

01:35:31 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 4:

Save that for college. Take a calligraphy class if you want to be special.

01:35:34 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 3:

But don't take up my middle school to teach me something I'm never going to use. If you're wasting college classes on a calligraphy class,

01:35:40 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 6:

go to college, you'll realize how many credit hours are required

01:35:44 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 7:

and how much they cost. They teach now, like, the class, I think we learned cursive in second grade or third grade. I can't remember. And now they teach, like, a keyboard, so that they can type really fast on the computer.

01:35:55 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 3:

Catch up to the times. Andrea, what's going on?

01:35:57 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 7:

They don't teach you how to send a fax either.

01:35:59 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 6:

Hey there.

01:36:00 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 3:

You know what? They should teach you how to put a condom on your D. I agree. I absolutely agree. Andrea, what's going on?

01:36:07 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 1:

So my dad used to leave me a month every year when I was in high school. And if I ever needed money, he would be like, go get a check out of my drawer and just sign it.

01:36:18 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

01:36:19 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 1:

So I have my dad's signature down, Pat. And I've done it my entire life. where was your dad going that he was leaving you alone for a month yes i know he would leave he'd go to texas to see his mom and he'd leave me i know i would never do that with my kids god but he would leave me home alone for a month i swear to god that is by the way that is kind of

01:36:41 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 3:

crazy if that happened nowadays that dad would be on the evening news yeah they'd be taking those

01:36:46 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 1:

kids away i didn't do anything too terrible we had one party one time but that was it that was

01:36:52 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

That's it. And dad gave you the check to go have that party. Chris, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:36:58 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi. My sister used to forge my mom's signature so much that when I was actually sick and brought in an actual note that my mom signed, they accused me of forging it. Stop.

01:37:12 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's great. These are all classic because, you know.

01:37:15 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 7:

You just remember.

01:37:16 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know. And you know what's funny? Now that they don't do cursive and stuff like that, I'm just going to text my mom's name. That's just the sign. Exactly. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

01:37:28 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 5:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:37:43 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. You know, I'm not on dating apps, But when I hear the stories of the stuff that you have to fill out on a dating app, it makes me kind of think, this is weird. Why would they even need things like this? But we were talking earlier this morning in our pre-show meeting about how people will put on their dating apps all kinds of stuff. Megan, what's going on?

01:38:03 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 6:

I actually feel like they're not putting all kinds of stuff. It's getting so frustrating on these apps that people are not filling them out completely. and I'm so torn on how I feel about this but there's like two parts of dating apps that just drive me nuts with your missing information and the big one is like if you're a parent or not and I can understand why you don't include that information like you don't want to be written right off the bat out of somebody's options and I totally get that but a part of me gets very angry is kind of a dramatic word but like disappointed maybe that you're willing to waste somebody's time who's not interested in dating a parent just because you won't put it on

01:38:42 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 7:

yeah i that would be like the very most important thing i mean it depends if you're trying to just

01:38:48 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 4:

smash or if you're looking for something long term if i'm just trying to smash you don't need to know if i got kids or not because what does it matter i'm not here to be your boyfriend does it mean that you're also hiding it no i'm here to have sex with you i'm not here to be in a relationship with you so me having children shouldn't determine whether or not we connect I still think that that is, like, a necessary thing you should put on there.

01:39:10 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 3:

Is that something that, Megan, you've seen more and more?

01:39:13 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and, like, a lot of the profiles that I'm on, and you can put what you're looking for, whether it's short-term, long-term, monogamy, non-monogamy, whatever. But I do think there should almost be, like, a slider factor then where if you're just looking to smash and I'm not looking for that, don't even pop. Like, I shouldn't have to dig through your profile to find that out about you. That seems like a huge waste of time for me, too.

01:39:34 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 3:

um do they give you do they give you the option to say parent but i don't want you to be responsible

01:39:40 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 6:

because i'm just looking to smash well they have have kids yes or no and then they have what kind of relationship you're looking for don't they like because this is hinge right yes and then they link your instagram so a lot of the time i will go to your instagram and then find out you're a parent okay because i feel like hinge and i i obviously i didn't do it

01:40:00 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 1:

any of the dating apps, excuse me, so I could be very wrong on this, but isn't Hinge more so for dating? That's what I mean. Like it's not necessarily just for hooking up. Right. Can I ask

01:40:09 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 3:

this question? If a person fills out every single one of those categories, do you feel like they

01:40:15 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 4:

have way too much time on their hands? No, I love it because I know that the red flags aren't going to pop up on the first date and I'm not going to get wasted. And by the way, by what you leave off tells a lot about your answer anyway.

01:40:27 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

Give us an example.

01:40:28 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 4:

I think a lot of times political affiliations are listed by one party and then just left empty by a different party. Yeah. So if you leave it off of your profile, it says what party you're affiliated with.

01:40:39 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 3:

Has anybody ever run across somebody that's lied about their political stuff?

01:40:42 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 4:

I don't know that I would put that on there. It's become very common. Really? Yeah.

01:40:48 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 3:

But if you don't put it on there, they just assume then you're sorry.

01:40:50 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, really?

01:40:51 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 3:

So can I be honest with you? When I see in this, I'm not on dating apps, but I am on Facebook, which, but when I see people fill out every single thing on their Facebook and I see all that stuff on there, I'm like, I hate to say it, you look like a loser. But do you want to know something?

01:41:06 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 1:

Because there are people I know that don't put on there that they're married or like tag their partner. And I think that's weird.

01:41:12 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 3:

On Facebook. On Facebook, yeah. Well, I think that is weird. If you don't put your, that's suspicious if you don't. I had a buddy of mine that used to, he would never put his wife on there and eventually now they're divorced. But I will say that the person that puts on, like, everything on there and then you look at their, like, if you click on the person's profile and you go, Jesus Christ. I mean, I know where they were in the third grade. Like, it's crazy.

01:41:37 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I'm completely on the other side of that conversation than you are. If I look at somebody's profile and they've filled out everything, I think that person is serious. Like, that means to me that they're looking for something serious to the point where they want to tell you exactly who they are. All on the table. What their interests are, what their hobbies are. That's somebody that's not here to play around. They ain't really looking for love.

01:41:59 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 3:

All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Is there a spot on these dating apps where you can say you're a parent of an animal? Because if you do that, you're also weird.

01:42:11 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's not parent of an animal, but they do have a spot that says pets.

01:42:15 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you have pets.

01:42:16 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 4:

Some people are allergic to animals. So if you've got a dog and I'm allergic to dogs,

01:42:19 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 3:

I hate the words fur babies, too. When people say fur babies, that makes me feel like you're weird. No offense, but fur babies, eh, I don't know.

01:42:30 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 4:

Mama to two cats. Swipe left.

01:42:33 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Kayla? How you doing?

01:42:35 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 4:

Good, how are you?

01:42:36 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Good. It's Mojo in the Morning. Megan's talking about that it bothers her that people don't put on their dating apps that they're parents.

01:42:43 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I actually am a parent. and I met my current boyfriend on the dating app, and we've been dating for almost a year now. But I ended up having to put, like, in big letters, like, I have a son and he's disabled in my profile because so many people would swipe right, like, oh, I want to meet you. And then two conversations in there, like, oh, you have kids? Like, did you not even read the profile?

01:43:06 - 01:43:07 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

01:43:08 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 3:

So you also put that he's disabled. Explain the reasoning behind that.

01:43:12 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 5:

um because a lot of the people that i would talk to like before i ended up putting that on there they would just ghost you like they would find out and they would just completely ghost you and stop talking to you so i made sure to put that because some people can't deal with that so i feel like it was kind of necessary to know anyways because he's got a lot of special needs and stuff

01:43:31 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 1:

okay yeah can i think that's a good one to be upfront about can i ask this question though

01:43:36 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 3:

did you find a lot of did you see any people that either would stay away from you or people that would come to you because of the sympathetic that they go, oh, man, she's got a disabled child?

01:43:48 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 5:

No, a lot of people would stay away from me or they would find out, because I made sure to be upfront about it, like I said, within the first two conversations. Okay. So a lot of people would just ghost me and, like, leave me alone, or they would talk to me like, hey, do you have kids? Yeah, you know, my son's disabled. Oh, well, I don't. And they would make up some reason why they can't talk to me anymore.

01:44:08 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's crazy. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:44:11 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 6:

uh what's up britney how you doing good hurry up good what do you hate i hate when i go on there and it's like a guy will have every single one of us pictures of him and like all his friends or him and all his family and it's like which one is even you okay so that happens very often

01:44:29 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 3:

yeah we talked we've talked about that before like if you have more than one or two people inside of a picture and you don't decipher like who's who and like what and i wondered a lot of times how many people actually will find uh that the other person is the better looking one oh i know some of their friends absolutely can you ask them for their friend's phone number

01:44:49 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 6:

uh danielle what's up hi hi i was calling i agree with megan because i definitely put on my tender profile that i have four kids because i wanted to meet out

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 5:

the men from The Boys.

01:45:01 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Oh, I like it. What about when Kev says all he wants to do is smash?

01:45:07 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 5:

I mean, there are guys like that. And Tinder and dating, that's what it's for. It's to figure out what you want, where you want it, and who's looking to be in a relationship or not. Are there girls that are like that? Great answer.

01:45:17 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 1:

Great answer. Are there girls that just want to smash too?

01:45:21 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes, there are girls that just want to smash.

01:45:23 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And where are they for Kevin?

01:45:26 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 5:

But aren't there other apps that are just for that? I'm surprised they're saying that. That's very apparent. There's not just a hookup app. Really?

01:45:35 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I know lots of people who've gotten married who met on Tinder.

01:45:38 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, so do I, but yeah. Mackenzie, what's up?

01:45:42 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 4:

So when I, back in the day when I was on these dating profiles, I did not include that I had a daughter. Just because I didn't want creepy men to like that. Like, I didn't want to broadcast that, like, I was a single mom and I had a daughter at home. just because, like, you don't really know anybody and you don't really know what they're after. That's an interesting point.

01:46:03 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 2:

I never thought of it that way.

01:46:05 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 1:

Like, they after your daughter?

01:46:09 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 4:

I work at a prison, so I feel like I'm pretty jaded. Oh, yeah. There's a lot of weird people out there.

01:46:15 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Is it a male prison or a women's prison?

01:46:21 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

Male. I've worked at both, though.

01:46:22 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 1:

Do you get guys that are, like, flirty and crazy with you?

01:46:29 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I think they most of the time know their place. I mean, men will be men and joke, but it's not too bad.

01:46:37 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 1:

Any of them good-looking, like, where you would think, oh, okay.

01:46:42 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 4:

No, but I'm also now married to a female. Oh, okay.

01:46:47 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 1:

All right. Any females in the other prison that you say, you never know. I always wondered about that with prisons. Like, how much prison action is going on? Like, the guards and the...

01:46:58 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Women are... There's nothing more disgusting than women in prison, so...

01:47:04 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 1:

Really? What do you mean?

01:47:05 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 4:

What does that mean? It's just... It's a gross place.

01:47:10 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Thanks for sharing. Nick, what's going on? What's going on, Nick?

01:47:17 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going? Good. What's up? First time calling. Hey! so my comment is this if a woman or male if they don't put all the information in you know like uh like you guys were saying i feel like because i was in that position at one point i was exhausted of the dead-end relationship yeah you know so it's like why should i give my 100 percent if they're not either but i ended up getting married to a woman that i just wanted to bang me and her met on plenty of fish and we've actually been married now for about two years

01:47:53 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 1:

wow congrats so you went into it just to get into it and now you guys are together forever yep good for you that's good and did she have her all of her uh lines filled out all of the boxes

01:48:05 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

filled no she didn't and she didn't even really uh take the quiz i i did and we actually matched of like there's like a 40 percent difference between us but she's actually like my twin that's cool actually have a really great relationship and me and her man on plenty of fish that's good is that i'll go through like 30 women to find one good one is plenty of fish

01:48:31 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 2:

the religious one i thought it was no that's christian or christian but i thought plenty of fish was too my brother's not religious and he was on that app really i don't think it's

01:48:41 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 1:

It's exclusively for religious people. That's how it started. I always thought that the fish was like the Jesus fish, but maybe the fish means something else. That's what I think. Jesus fish. Yeah. No, that's what I was trying to say. Get him. That's funny. What's up, Angel? Angel, what's going on?

01:48:58 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I'm a first time, long time. Hey, Angel's on my phone.

01:49:04 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:49:04 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 6:

So I have been experiencing with it. I put I'm still figuring it out because I am. and I will talk to somebody who puts long-term partner and then it becomes apparent very early on that they are just looking for sex. Okay. So you, you can tell, right, you know,

01:49:21 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 1:

the moment that you guys got to get together and go out.

01:49:25 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 6:

No, it isn't even at the point of going out. It's just the conversation. It's just the conversation.

01:49:30 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 2:

But why, why is everybody lying on the app? Like who is that benefiting? At the end of the day, if you're trying to just hook up, you're wasting your own time too. When somebody drops you, when they realize they're just trying to hook up and they're looking for a big relationship? Like, who is this benefiting?

01:49:46 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. I don't get it either.

01:49:48 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm mad about it.

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

That's interesting. You know how sometimes when you're filling out forms, it won't let you go to the next thing unless you fill out the previous box? I'm surprised none of these apps have that.

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 3:

hate when that happens on anything you're like god i just like i just type yesterday i had to

01:50:05 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 2:

ask you for an email because i couldn't move on mojo in the morning so with uh the super bowl happening and a lot of people uh excited over that i want to a lot i'm not excited you do not i'm not i'm not into it i'm not into it because the lions broke my heart and broke up with me a couple of weeks ago, and I still haven't been able to get over it. Like, I really was anticipating at least an NFC championship game, you know? So needless to say, I'll just go along with it. You know what is happening right now, though, too? And somebody needs to tell me this. So my kids are in their 20s and then also teens. So I have Joe and then Jacob, and then I've got Luke. And my children, two out of three of them are degenerate gamblers. Like, and when I mean degenerate gamblers, like I'm talking about Joe bets on like badminton on the weekends. Like if there's no, if there's no football, like it's like, it's crazy. And Luke has gotten to a point now where Luke is, and he's been calling like Chelsea a couple of times. And he's called me a couple of times telling me like he needs gas money. and I'm like first off you live on campus in a frat house and you do have a car but your car is only to come home and you haven't been home in a couple of weeks like what are you needing gas for and I realized it's for gambling and I was having a conversation with a friend the other day and he was telling me he's like yeah his kids are high school and he's got one that's a freshman in college and he was telling me he's like yeah he goes I had to pay my kids gambling debts and I go what are you talking about and he goes yeah he goes he's on one of the apps and he's like you know doing all this gambling and stuff with his friends and I realized I'm like oh my god these kids get in and if you think it's crazy that they're on these things there are buddies of mine whose kids got on these things when they were like in high school yeah because their parents were able to get an account for them that's and give them an account to do it and it's funny because if you talk to me about gambling I don't know parlays and I don't know like odds like I'm not good at that like Shannon you brought up in a dirty one time you're like is this good odds or

01:52:21 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 3:

bad odds i can't answer that well no i don't even know how to say the like there were there were odds about this weekend and how often taylor swift is going to be shown during the game and i was like is it do i say plus 750 i think i don't even know what i'm saying like i know the points of a

01:52:35 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 2:

game like when they say okay here's total points and you know you're gonna bet the over the under you know okay i can figure that out and i also know like if there's a team favorite like the chiefs are favored by whatever what are they are they favored by like two or something like that or something, but I know that, but I don't know like the odds, but you talk to my son, Luke, Luke can tell you everything like Luke, like Luke can figure this whole thing out. And it's gotten to a point now where I think that they're gambling so much that literally because these apps are available, which more power to the apps. I love it. They advertise a ton on our station. It's great. I actually honestly have an app that I talk about on the air all the time and i use the app but when i was you know a kid and i was i never would in a million years like you would i think the only gambling that we had was we played basketball or something like that or we played one and we'd play with our friends like it was it was cash gambling i

01:53:32 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 1:

understand it though the kids these days they live and they breathe with their cell phones in their hands so they're aware of what's going on it's in their face 100 of the time they know who's scoring They know who's out. They know what team is underperforming. So they have all the information.

01:53:48 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 3:

That hit of dopamine when you're making money on there.

01:53:51 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 1:

It's addictive.

01:53:52 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:53:52 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 2:

For sure. All right. I want to ask this question. Do we have any college kids that are listening to the show or anybody that's listening that's younger? Or maybe parents. Will you call and tell us? Like, have your kids ever gotten in trouble with gambling? Like, has it ever gotten to a point? Because I ain't going to lie to you. I'm, like, worried I'm going to get a door knock. Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop. and there's going to be some Italian guy because for some reason I always think the Italians are the ones that come after you and break legs.

01:54:18 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 1:

Like the mafia? Yeah, the mafia. You've seen Casino.

01:54:21 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

I've seen Casino. He's going to be a guy in a black suit and it's going to say, you youths. Really good movie show. He's going to come after her and he's going to try and he's going to arrest my kid, or not arrest my kid, but kill my kid. It's going to be one of those situations. I think that this is going to get to a point where it's like, uh-oh, watch out. They're going to be in some major debt. And are there any parents that have ever had to clean out and clear out some of their major debt? Lydia, will you dial up Joe's number on his hotline? Because I want to talk to him real quick. Because he is the biggest degenerate gambler that I know. What's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hello.

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 3:

hi um i was calling in about the gambling um yeah that they're talking about yes exactly

01:55:06 - 01:55:09 | Speaker 2:

tell us our who's the degenerate gambler that we know of

01:55:09 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 3:

um i have a couple friends i'm like 25 and my friends that's all they do anytime they even have a group chat called degenerate gamblers anonymous

01:55:20 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 2:

and they just sit there and they're they're uh parlaying games and they're parlaying like you know who's going to score first and who's going to be like so after all the games are over

01:55:34 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 3:

if they're up they start betting on Chinese ping pong are you kidding me yeah I'm telling you Joe

01:55:43 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 2:

does that like if you talk to Joe from the Joe show this kid is non-stop on there one time I called him up and I said to him I go what are you doing and he goes I'm betting on how many times the commercial for Geico comes up, and I'm like, what? How can you bet on stuff like that? Like, they have everything that's going on there.

01:56:04 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 3:

No, no, they're not answering. Yeah, it's crazy. They're not?

01:56:07 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 2:

The Joe show's not answering at all?

01:56:11 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 1:

Does he ever play any of the, like, video poker? Like, he's just placing bets on stuff.

01:56:18 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 2:

No, he and Luke play blackjack all the time.

01:56:21 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they do, yeah.

01:56:22 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Which I used to do that, too. Like, I was bad.

01:56:24 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 1:

I remember when you went through a little phase of doing that.

01:56:27 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, they came on, and I started doing the commercials. And when I started doing the commercials, I was like, oh, look what they gave me to do these commercials. They gave me like $1,000 credit. And I'm like, oh, this is great. That $1,000 credit ends up turning into me getting like, I'm like a guy. I got cocaine coming out of my head. It's like the greatest. What's going on, Hana? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:56:54 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 4:

hi i'm good how are you guys good what's up so i love when my man's parlay hits because that always means that we're going shopping and then to dinner oh and i yeah it's so fun and he always like whenever we're watching a game he'll have like the sports app on his phone open yeah so he's watching both in real time to like check and make sure his parlay's gonna hit because it's not just like the points it's also like who's gonna have this many yards by this time I don't know

01:57:26 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 2:

it's so complicated it's so it's so funny I actually know a lot of women that are into it and I know you don't know like the terminology or what's going on you just like to spend that money but I will tell you I know a lot of women that do it too it's wild I would do it too if you like

01:57:40 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 4:

told me what to put in you know yeah he always gets that parlay to hit yeah you know what he

01:57:47 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 2:

doesn't want to teach you because he's worried that you'll be better than him uh what's going

01:57:51 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 1:

on voices guys uh see what's up see hi guys good morning good morning good morning what's going on so my boyfriend's best friend is addicted to gambling i mean he he gambles or bets on everything um they've lost their house or their apartment and he lost their car and when she was pregnant last year um that's when they lost everything and they're in a house now but he's

01:58:20 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 2:

still gambling oh my god wow it sounds to me like his gambling is not on apps his gambling is going

01:58:28 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 1:

further than apps isn't it well he does the fantasy football betting he does the betting on all the football games yeah he does um the fan duel but i i think here's the thing i think i think that

01:58:42 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 2:

That's a guy, I guarantee you, that's taking money from people. And if he's losing his house, you're not losing your house off of just a quick little gamble here or there. That's a guy that's going deep.

01:58:54 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 1:

I will say, his parents are well off.

01:58:57 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:58:58 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

So I'm sure that has something to do with it.

01:59:00 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:59:00 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 1:

And he's the baby.

01:59:02 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 2:

So he gets away with that stuff.

01:59:05 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure, but I can't believe every time my boyfriend hangs out with him, there's always something he's lost.

01:59:12 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Yeah. So that's a guy that's honestly, he's just got bad luck. You know what I mean? Because I know people that lose, but I also know people that win sometimes. And it sounds to me like he's never winning if he's losing all this stuff. You gotta stop playing. I know. Yeah. Take that away from him. Did Joe Show answer at all yet? Nope.

01:59:31 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 1:

I rang them about five times. They gambled around. This is the little crap. I love that you're not taking no answer for an answer.

01:59:39 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you why I'm not? I'm not. I want to make sure that I get him on the phone because I want everybody to see the person that I think that his mother raised. As long as it's not you, right? Hold on. Why is he, uh, Hey, Hey, you got a second? I can talk to you on the air. Yeah. Lydia. Call his cell phone. She's going to call your cell phone right now because I can't pick it up on the air. You'll love this topic we're talking about.

02:00:07 - 02:00:08 | Unknown:

Can you call the on-air number?

02:00:08 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 2:

Call the on-air number, Lydia.

02:00:09 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I already did.

02:00:10 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 2:

She's called it like five times and nobody's answering or something.

02:00:14 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, that's because we're...

02:00:16 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 2:

Okay, she's calling you right now.

02:00:18 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 3:

See, he's good at making excuses for his behavior.

02:00:20 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. She's calling you right now. All right, call up. Hold on, Misfit Victor's on. What's up, Victor? How you doing?

02:00:30 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Joe was actually doing an over and under on how many times you would call the on-air number.

02:00:35 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Victor, stay on here real quick for one second. Joe shows on, and I want to make sure I get them for a second. Joe, are you there? Yeah. I was telling the listeners how much of a degenerate gambler you are and how you've become this way.

02:00:49 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. I bet responsibly.

02:00:52 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

You bet responsibly on badminton and beach volleyball. and, like, if there's no sports going on, you bet on, like, stupid stuff.

02:01:01 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, listen, I love the ESPN Bets app, and I gamble responsibly, and if you've got a gambling problem, you've got to make sure that you call the number that is on the end of my commercials. Real quick. But I will. I'll gamble on anything if I can gamble on it. Sometimes, because you guys know I'm in Tampa, I'll go to this, it's called Nebraska Ave, and I'll gamble on how many crackheads I can get to ask me if they could bum a cigarette.

02:01:28 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 3:

What is the craziest thing you've ever bet on the app, though?

02:01:34 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, it depends, because if I'm in Michigan, I use the ESPN Bets app. But when I'm in Florida, you have to use another app. And when I'm here, like they have table tennis. I do a lot of table tennis.

02:01:46 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Seriously.

02:01:48 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. When I go on my app, I'll play a couple of bets. Yeah, ping pong. Yeah. Well, and it's a bunch of, you don't even know who they are, but you start to learn their names and stuff. It's a lot of, like, Phillips with an F. And, you know, it's kind of just, yeah, I don't know. Hold on.

02:02:05 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 2:

Misfit Victor is also on the phone with us, too. He's another guy that's a degenerate gambler, too. Victor, say hi to the Joe Show.

02:02:10 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm a recovering degenerate gambler. I used to bet on Chinese basketball. It'd be, like, 4 in the morning. Oh, it's the best. Korean baseball. The Fireflies versus the Shanghai, like, Hornets. And then what I would do is I would Google both the teams and see how many Americans were on each team. I'm like, okay, this team has, like, nine Americans. This other team only has four Americans. So I'm like, this team's going to win for sure. And I put money on them. And I fall asleep. And you wake up in the morning and find out if Shanghai Fireflies lost to the whatever. Oh, my God. It's just crazy. But you should be lucky. You should be happy that they're just using the app instead of, like, using a bookie because the app's never going to come after Luke.

02:02:56 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 2:

And that's what I say. Joe has turned Luke into a gambler, too. Like, he's calling every week asking for gas money, so to speak, Joe.

02:03:03 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, and I like it. I encourage it because it's fun. It's fun to have a dog in the race, and it's fun to gamble with people. The worst is Jed will tell me, hey, yeah, I'm betting on this, and then I'll place the bet, and then I find out later he's all happy when I lost the bet. I'm like, why are you happy? He goes, well, I took the other team.

02:03:21 - 02:03:22 | Unknown:

This is true.

02:03:23 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 2:

Joe, and Jed, and everybody, and Victor, who are you guys taking this weekend? Who's winning this weekend?

02:03:28 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 1:

Eagles. I think Eagles. Yes, sir. Some guy on Instagram yesterday said out of the last 10 Super Bowls or something like that, the situation that happened, the team is like 0-10 that comes back and tries to win.

02:03:40 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 4:

I am gambling on things like first touchdown, color of Gatorade. I'm not betting on anything involving the Chiefs. because I've lost a lot of money on the Chiefs. But then I want it all back on the Lions. Jameer Gibbs' first touchdown.

02:03:56 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:03:56 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 4:

Yo.

02:03:57 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Victor, who are you taking this weekend?

02:04:00 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm taking the Eagles on first touchdown. You've got to go with Saquon Barkley.

02:04:04 - 02:04:04 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 3:

All right. I think the guy's going to have probably –

02:04:06 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 4:

I'll do you one better. I'll do you one better. Saquon, two touchdowns. I don't know what the odds are in Detroit right now, but they're pretty good. They got me feeling nicey. Saquon, over 200 yards.

02:04:16 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 3:

wow wow hold on hold on don't you like to go for the first touchdown like you go down the odds and you find some guy who's had like one touchdown pass in the last like 12 years and it's like

02:04:28 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 4:

it's like five thousand dollar on it you could win a million i did that well i did that one year with jared goff to get a touchdown because you can't well this year you can't bet on like when he throws a touchdown that doesn't count he has to catch the touchdown and score i did that the game before i'm and ross threw him the touchdown so you know

02:04:49 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

what are you gonna do all right i'm gonna i gotta pick somebody else up here i'll talk to you guys let's bet let's bet on me here i bet on me hanging you up

02:05:00 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 6:

i mean amanda amanda listen to this shannon amanda you heard shannon doing commercials for fanduel right yeah yeah and did you did you win big or lose so it was over um probably like

02:05:17 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 3:

seven months i would um because they have those uh daily games where you could like win money yeah so i haven't like deposited a whole lot or anything i like to win like the money and then use it to gamble playing the slots and i won in the last year over 15 000 that's amazing

02:05:36 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 4:

are you talking about like the reward machine reels and stuff like the free the free play they

02:05:41 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 3:

would give you oh my god you can win like real money to play on the spot yes yes to gamble with and you can win a lot of money on it that is insane money after you hit after you hit a certain amount like say you hit a hundred dollars you deposit 15 so that you're not like regretting it ever and then you can continue to play that's smart that's great i like that i like that yeah

02:06:03 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 6:

great story thank you for the call i appreciate it all right uh we're gonna give you a chance right now to win kendrick and sisa tickets they're gonna be performing at the super bowl and we are having them come to town and play ford field so text right now to win text squabble to nine five five zero zero squabble sq u a b b l e to nine five five zero zero standard text and data rates to apply mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right one last dirty for the week and then it's over with what's going on shannon okay so let's talk about the nfl honors

02:06:36 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 4:

that went down in new orleans last night this year's mvp went to josh allen the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.

02:06:44 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 6:

And the AP most valuable player presented by Invisalign is... Josh Allen. Okay.

02:06:53 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 4:

Dan Campbell did not get coach of the year. Unfortunately, that honor went to Kevin O'Connell of the Vikings, Ben Johnson. He beats him twice. Ben Johnson got an assistant coach, though.

02:07:03 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 6:

How do you like that? He beats the guy twice, knocks him out of the playoffs, and he loses coach of the year. Well-deserved. The NFL is fixed and stupid.

02:07:13 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Snoop Dogg took on hosting duties last night and took aim at Bill Belichick's much younger girlfriend, Jordan Hudson.

02:07:22 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 2:

It is an honor to be hosting this because I've been a football fan for a long, long time. I mean, I remember back when the Cowboys was good. I remember back when the Chiefs was bad. And I remember... What was it? Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet.

02:07:46 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Her face like jaw dropped with that.

02:07:50 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 6:

Do you think she enjoys that man like making love to that guy? I don't know. I don't know where that kink is. No.

02:07:57 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 4:

That might be her thing. She was wearing a Super Bowl ring last night and her middle finger she had. She had a big, big, big diamond right next to it so everybody's wondering if they are engaged at this point. No comments from them yet about it. Listen, they're both benefiting. That's right. Yeah. Speaking of football and the NFL, Kendrick said he is going to put rap culture on the forefront during his performance at this Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show.

02:08:22 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 6:

Yes, he is. And he's going to have a lot of people going.

02:08:25 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 1:

What word did he just say? It reminds me of the essence and the core response of rap and hip-hop and how far it can go. So for me, that's mean everything because it puts the coach on the forefront where it needs to be and not minimize to just a catchy song or verse. This is a true art form. So to represent it on this type of stage, it's like everything that I've worked for and everything that I believe in as far as the culture. Like I live and die by it. It's going to change my whole family life. So I don't take it for granted at all.

02:09:02 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 4:

13 minutes. He's going to do a 13-minute performance. Is that a normal time?

02:09:06 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Is that?

02:09:07 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 4:

That's actually a really good question. That seems short.

02:09:09 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 5:

I think it is. Really? I think that's normal, because I think Rihanna had 12. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, they say Super Bowl halftime usually lasts between 12 and 30 minutes, but the average is around 13. That had to be like back in the day or something.

02:09:23 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's crazy. Post Malone going to be celebrating Record Store Day. This is not until April, but who cares about Record Store Day? He's doing a whole Nirvana tribute album. So he did this, I want to say it was during the pandemic. He performed like a bunch of songs from his home. Do you remember that? Well, now he's actually releasing this Nirvana tribute album, 14 tracks. It's going to feature a whole bunch of features. Travis Barker on drums, bassist Brian Lee, guitarist Nick Mack, and profits from this tribute album. Going to go towards music cares, addiction recovery, and mental health division, which is really cool.

02:10:00 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 1:

cool so you gotta wait till april to get it but is dave grohl coming on it uh i don't see his name on here but i don't know it just said among others oh so and you guys all know how much i love build a bear um they are raising some eyebrows with a very interesting promotion for adults who are into build a bear for valentine's day She's a cougar.

02:10:27 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 4:

She's a cougar. You can get a cougar build a bear. Watch out, boys. It's very funny. Really? Yeah, it's very stupid. This is wild.

02:10:39 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 1:

It has a cougar bear left. Strutting around in heels. It's so funny. You know, of course, there's some people that are just appalled by it, because build a bear is for kids, but for the most part. All right, for all of this week's Dirty, we are done. Catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MosinTheMorning.com.

02:10:57 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Before I close this out, and I will in a second, I want to give you the top five songs on Billboard's Hot 100 chart coming in at number five. I think this song has been, let me look real quick and see the specifics. How long has this song been on the Billboard?

02:11:11 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Still not over it. You want me to tell you?

02:11:14 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:11:15 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 4:

42.

02:11:16 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

42 weeks. 42 weeks.

02:11:17 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

02:11:18 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Actually, it's wild. The song that came in just after that has been on a little longer. Loose Control has been on 76 times. Number, let's see here, four song is...

02:11:32 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

Can't work in SZA, Luther.

02:11:36 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 3:

This is the fourth most popular song in the country right now.

02:11:40 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 2:

Number three

02:12:07 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 3:

Number two This song was the number one song for a while. It got knocked off. What song knocked it off? You'll hear in a second. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.

02:12:23 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:12:34 - 02:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, and the number one song right now on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, Travis Scott 4x4.

02:12:45 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 2:

Are we playing this? No.

02:12:48 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm playing it right now. What do you think about playing it? What do you, open up your ears.

02:12:52 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 2:

You're right.

02:12:55 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 3:

Travis Scott doesn't have a lot of radio hits, man. He needs more radio hits.

02:12:59 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 4:

He's great. Travis got a lot of songs that should be on radio. I agree. That was like five years ago, man. All right. Don't win. I tell Tony that.

02:13:09 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Shannon.

02:13:10 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Tony, we need more. Travis.

02:13:12 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 3:

All right, here we go. Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:13:15 - 02:13:15 | Unknown:

Here we go.

02:13:16 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:33 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 3:

The birthday boy is going to be doing a topic coming up next here on the show. So coming up right after we get done with a special edition of The 5 at 6.55. We are going to do a special edition of The 5 at 6.55. For those that don't listen to us early or have never heard this before, we do a contest at 6.55 weekday mornings here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's a little trivia thing. Catch up on pop culture, stuff that, you know, Shannon talks about in The Dirty on the 30. And you'll have listeners taking on each other. Whoever wins comes back the next day. Whoever loses gets a parting gift. If you last on the air with us 15 times, you get put in our tournament of champions. And then you get to play Shannon, who is the reason why we do this contest, because we started doing back in the day a thing called Smarter Than Shannon. And it got really boring because she never would let the listeners win. She was one of those people that, she was like how Mike has been with the throwback throwdown, winning nonstop with the throwback throwdown.

02:14:35 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 4:

That's a little, uh-huh. I'm joking.

02:14:37 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to see if it would piss off, Kevin.

02:14:39 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 4:

Facts piss me off, and that was not a fact.

02:14:43 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to have some fun with Kevin on that one. No, so Eric, who was a 15-time champion over a week ago, he got sick and could not play Shannon, so we had to move on. and we decided, you know what, he should play her. Yeah.

02:15:00 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 1:

We asked if he could come in studio. We said, not if you're sick. He's better now. He just took his... I'm all good. He just took his test. He's here. He's tested negative for sickness on things, but maybe others. I don't know. But it's good to have you there. Positive on vibes. I like that. Oh, yeah. So we're going to play a round of Smarter Than Shannon. Here we go. It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 at 6. 9.55. 9.55. 9.55. Yo, 5. 9.55. I kind of like that. So, five questions. They're all pop culture related. We always will have the challenger go first since Shannon is the ultimate champion, right? You would at least admit to that? Yes. Eric, you're going to go first for the first time since you played the very first go around. Scandalous. All right. Shannon, I'm going to ask you to please leave the building. Good luck, my new friend. Thank you, Shannon. You're not near an Amazon Alexa that is playing the station. Oh, yeah. Although, you know what? We're on such a delay on the iHeart app that I don't know. She'll be fine. All right. So five questions. They're all Super Bowl related. So let's see what happens here. You ready? Let's do it. Eric, question number one. The Super Bowl is happening in New Orleans on Sunday. What number Super Bowl is this? Three seconds. Three. 57. Question number two. What two teams are playing in this weekend's Super Bowl? Chiefs-Eagles. Question number three. Name one of the head coaches in this weekend's game. Nick Sirianni, Andy Reid. Question number four. SZA will be performing with Kendrick Lamar. True or false? Her real name is Selena. Three seconds. Three, two, one. True. And question number five. odds makers are saying that Saquon Barkley is the favorite to win MVP at this year's Super Bowl. What team does he play for? Philadelphia Eagles. Get Shannon back in here, please. I'll get her. Get Shannon back in. You're mean. You're so mean. Yeah, come through. Mota was on game today. This is tough. Let's go. This is very, very tough. I don't know. I think that there's a hole. She can do it. How did he do? He did okay, but I think you're screwed. Me? Yeah. How many did he get? He got three out of five. Three out of five. Respectable. But I don't know if you will. They are all Super Bowl-related questions. Oh, Jesus. You got this, Shannon. Guess what? You win. No, no, no. Because he missed two that I think you're going to get. Yeah. All right, here we go. Okay. Question number one. The Super Bowl is happening Sunday in New Orleans. What number Super Bowl is this? 59. Correct. That was one of the questions he missed. That was not on mine. Question number two.

02:17:58 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 1:

What two teams are playing in this weekend's Super Bowl? The Chiefs and the Eagles. Yes. Good one. Question number three. Name one of the head coaches in this weekend's game. Oh, Andy Reid. Yes. Come on now, Sandy. Come on, Sandy. She's going to do it. Question number four. SZA will be performing halftime with Kendrick Lamar. True or false? Her real name is Selena. False. Correct. Don't ever doubt Shannon. Her real name is Solanya, I believe it is. And question number five. Oddsmakers are saying that Saquon Barkley will be the favorite to win the MVP at this year's Super Bowl. What team does he play for? 30 seconds. The Eagles. Yes! She's the ultimate champion, Shannon. Oh, my God. Let's go. And the belt stays home. I have no faith in you. Let's go. Smell my butt. Smell my butt. That's right, Eric. Wow, Eric. Oh, Eric, I thought you had it. I studied so much TMZ. I'm so good. No, no, we brought a loop in the house.

02:19:16 - 02:19:17 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:19:17 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I didn't have a straight case. I loved having you in studio. That was awesome. We should make this a thing. That was fun. That was great. That was such a cool game. Very nice. It's Mojo in the Morning 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live. You say it's your birthday. Da-na-na-na-na-na. It's my birthday, too, now. Da-na-na-na-na-na. It's Zach's birthday. Na-na-na-na-na-na. It's his birthday, too.

02:20:00 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 2:

now. Zach, happy 30th birthday, Zach. Thank you, guys. Dude, I've had the best day. You guys... Are you serious? No, seriously. Oh, man. The McDonald's really made it.

02:20:11 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 5:

It was awesome. I loved that we asked Zach this morning. We were like, Zach, in our pre-show meeting, Zach, what are you going to do this weekend for your birthday? And he's like, I'm going to get my hair cut.

02:20:20 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

He's cute. I love him. I want to kiss this guy. Can we kiss him? Let's all kiss him today. Zach, for your birthday, guess what you get today? You get to do a topic on the show. It's Mojo in the morning. Zach here with us right now. And the topic this morning, we're going to have to keep it as clean as possible. Kevin. What? I want to make sure that you don't say anything that you shouldn't say. What? This topic is about Zach's roommate or buddy and the kinkiest ask that somebody asked you. Now, if we do a topic with this, some of the things are not going to be able to be said. like words are not going to be able to say you're gonna have to use euphemisms and things like that so if you do call us up with something kinky it's got to be something like you know put a euphemism in there like we talk about baking cookies and things like that zach is this a roommate of yours or a friend of yours uh fred okay because i was gonna say if this is one of your roommates run

02:21:16 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 2:

out yeah no no um so i got a call yesterday because it's my birthday um just checking in from a friend and i said to the person i was like hey how's your relationship going like are you guys married yet she said no we broke up because it was a red flag it's like what does that mean well he liked kinky stuff in the bed i was like oh tell me more what's going on she didn't

02:21:40 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 5:

know this before they were getting ready to get married well here's the thing yeah it got more

02:21:44 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

and more kinkier um he took her out on dinner and he wanted her to eat all the pasta and get very bloated because he wanted to feel see how it felt with a pregnant woman

02:22:00 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 1:

to be pregnant and no hooking up but to be like i need to know what it feels like it's so weird

02:22:15 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 4:

did it work did you imagine could you imagine also trying to have sex after you just ate a

02:22:22 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

bunch of pasta that's when i politely say no that's the last like i don't i don't feel good

02:22:28 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 4:

about myself but i'm bloated so like no i'm not going to carabas and then going to bed right afterwards i'm going to bed to sleep yeah that's crazy so by the way wait did you ask if there

02:22:39 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 5:

were like what some of the other things were because you said that it that it got kinkier

02:22:43 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 2:

and kinkier the request well that's the kinkiest it got and she mentioned like you know other like tying up and stuff and i was like okay but she just wasn't on board have any of you guys been

02:22:53 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 4:

tied up you have shannon's been tied up i do not recall well what could we know no no question no the question you come on you can't just sit there and uh and do that look but this the weirdest part to me is i don't want anybody handcuffing me not like tying tying me up or doing anything like that like i don't want to have to like get myself out or have 911 get myself out yeah no it wasn't like that though like it was what was what is it what was it like this is really weird come on

02:23:28 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 5:

it wasn't like that it was just it was it was more low-key very yeah and just hands just like the hands behind your back or not behind my back but yeah yes it was just my hands i want to be

02:23:42 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 4:

tied up. Do you really? I want to

02:23:44 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 3:

be tied up like feet tied up, hands tied up to where I can't move. You want to be hog tied? Yeah. I don't want to be able to stop what's going on. You know what? You know what I mean?

02:23:54 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 4:

If there's any girls that get with Kevin and you tie them up, leave them there. So Monday morning we have to call and find out where we're at. I won't be able to answer. We're going to be calling your mom. Choose me. Can you go over to the house? We have learned the

02:24:10 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 1:

cops will do a wellness check, so.

02:24:12 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 4:

um i'm serious though can i can i tell you though like with the pregnancy thing like the whole idea pregnant sex and we've had it just when we were trying to have like they told us that that's how we would have the the going to labor we were trying to get okay and the pregnant sex was not comfortable like as a guy having pregnant sex is not as a guy well it's never listen sex with me is never comfortable at all but sex with by the way and having sex with me is like having pregnant but it was like i i now look back on it and i go god that just felt like you know it's so weird that really yeah how many months in are we are we talking about so and maybe i feel like i've

02:24:56 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

talked to other women though and this was the case when i was pregnant i was really

02:25:00 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 8:

corny like the especially the beginning of the pregnancy and then once you get to the end of the pregnancy you're miserable and you're so uncomfortable and that's kind of like the last thing you want to do but then it is mojo is right it is something that doctors will tell you towards the end when you like you want that baby out having sex is something that will help you go into

02:25:19 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

labor in honor of the Super Bowl at all for me early on in the pregnancy the pregnancy P was the best there's so much freedom involved in it you don't have to worry about getting pregnant or doing anything because it's already there. Well, early on

02:25:33 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 1:

is great. Yeah. Yeah, it's like you're not worried about that, but have any of you guys had sex after you had like a big meal? Because that also is not fun either.

02:25:45 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not fun at all.

02:25:47 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 8:

That's what I'm saying. To your friend's request, I would be like, no. He probably didn't

02:25:51 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 1:

eat a lot though. No. She did it, by the way. She tried it. She did it. And she was like, I don't ever want to be like this again. She smells like garlic bread. What's going on, Bella? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning.

02:26:05 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so I had a guy ask me if I would bring rubber gloves to go down a pipe. Oh, okay. All right, all right, all right.

02:26:15 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so yeah, wait, hold on a second. So real quick, I'm not going to ask you specifics, but he asked you if you would bring rubber gloves to... Now, if a guy says to you, if a guy says, hey, we're going to have sex tonight, like, did he say we're going to have sex, or did you think that your guy's going to do a little house cleaning or something?

02:26:35 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 6:

We were talking about having sex,

02:26:38 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 8:

and then he introduced the rubber glove situation. I would run so fast and so far away. I mean, it was like the hole pipe up in. Okay.

02:26:49 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 6:

I'm just confused.

02:26:50 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 1:

I'm keeping the stuff on the air clean I'm keeping it clean I'm dumping What's going on John How you doing

02:26:57 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 7:

I'm doing good By the way First time back How long you been listening to this show John

02:27:07 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 1:

Nine years I love it

02:27:10 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 6:

Do you want to move your mouth away from the speaker Just like a centimeter It would be really nice

02:27:15 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 1:

You sound like As we call it in radio It sounds like you're eating the microphone.

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, hold on. Let me put you guys on speaker there. Is that better? That's going to do nothing.

02:27:26 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

02:27:27 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 8:

Exactly the same, my dude.

02:27:28 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 1:

No, he has just a raspy voice. Go ahead, John, but keep it clean, okay? What was the kink?

02:27:35 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 7:

All right, well, okay. And actually, mine was really freaky. She would love to go outdoors and be washed by other people while being tied up.

02:27:46 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you would go outside? Like where, outside your backyard or something?

02:27:52 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 7:

Backyard, woods, a park, at the beach.

02:27:56 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. She liked to have public sex. Yeah. And she wanted you to tie her up? I'm surprised you didn't get arrested if somebody called the cops. You would have.

02:28:06 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 7:

The only time I tied her up was when we were in the woods. That's the only time.

02:28:10 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that deer are watching you going, what the hell?

02:28:15 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 7:

I think there's more than just deer. Maybe all the animals were watching like, oh, my God, what are these guys doing?

02:28:23 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, John, for the call. Madeline would like to talk to Kevin. What would you want to say to Kevin?

02:28:31 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 5:

I was just going to say I have some bed straps, and they are a lot of fun to use. I've never used them on anybody else, but, yeah, you can buy them on Amazon for like 15 bucks.

02:28:44 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 1:

What are the bed straps meant for? Because they're not meant for sex, are they?

02:28:48 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 5:

They're to, like, tie you up in a way. So, like, you can use them over your headboard, under your headboard. You can put them under your mattress and have it, like, four-by-four style, like legs and your hands.

02:29:00 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were calling to see if I wanted to participate with that.

02:29:04 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 8:

That's what I was wondering. That was very directed.

02:29:06 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 6:

The offer is there.

02:29:08 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 8:

Oh, let's go. Put her on hold, Lydia. Oh, my God. Zach's like, wait a second. It's my birthday. Oh, my God.

02:29:16 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 1:

02:29:27 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 4:

02:29:39 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, I just want to tell you about when I was a lot younger, my first girlfriend wanted to tie me up, So I let her. And then she started telling me that she's a tiger and started scratching my chest really bad. And then she poured wax on me. Oh, my God.

02:29:56 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I'm not even going to lie.

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 5:
