good morning and welcome to mojo in the morning friday edition of the show happy weekend almost here Super Bowl Sunday we're all going to eat our faces off this weekend and hopefully whatever team you root for wins or at least very least you get a square maybe you'll win a square if you've done that which by the way oh my god I forgot I got to pay today I got to stop off on my way home the place that I go eat at all the time the waitress there sold squares for her son's baseball team and I have been NMIA with my money. Otherwise, they'll take away my squares. You got a song you want to hear? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Obviously, we're going to be focused on Rihanna this weekend because of the halftime performance. Shannon got a lot of stuff from Rihanna yesterday, watching her on the NFL's TikTok during the meeting that we were in yesterday. Thank you to Mike for sending that, that she was doing that because the meeting was getting a little boring at that time. Our little promo meeting that we were having. So I was just sitting there watching. listening to her do her press conference, which was good. We have so much to get to, throwbacks. We've got phone scams, the dirty, and tickets to see Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Lil Wayne. Let's go.

00:04:47 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 6:

It's the weekend.

00:04:50 - 00:04:52 | Unknown:

Are you ready? The weekend.

00:04:53 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 4:

00:04:56 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning.

00:05:15 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 2:

Hello, everybody. It's the weekend, bitches.

00:05:23 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 1:

Here we go. welcome to the mojo the mojo in the morning show super bowl weekend on mojo in the morning show i don't care about either team but it's mojo in the morning show i'm going to eat my face off mojo in the morning show did megan make it in today because i was worried after i saw uh the post on instagram yesterday is that right Megan your basement's flooded

00:05:57 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 2:

only a few tears were shed in the past 24 hours and by a few I mean I think I flooded my basement a second time

00:06:04 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

oh no is it because of the weather and the rain and everything or what was it

00:06:10 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

you guys if I could explain to you the insane day that I had yesterday it was downhill from about 7 in the morning

00:06:19 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 1:

wait you at least gave yourself a couple of hours in the morning to say that it was good.

00:06:24 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

We had a good start, and then Shannon knows about halfway through the show, I started having a meltdown because I was convinced I was getting fired yesterday. Yeah. It was bad. It was really bad. You didn't tell me that. I talked her out of that.

00:06:37 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 1:

What made you convinced that you were getting fired?

00:06:39 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

We had our big bosses in town unannounced before all of management showed up yesterday, which was very exciting, let me tell you. I was thrilled about that. and then Tony had a meeting in Detroit that I was not invited to and then when I followed up with him I was not invited again just making sure that I wasn't supposed to be in it so I was like oh the big bosses are in town and I'm not invited to the morning show meeting because they're getting rid of me after the show

00:07:04 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 1:

no no no no that happens today no actually there was no virtual I liked how Tony did that he just wanted to have people come in and they didn't do any of the team's virtual thing, which is what we complained about yesterday. You guys had a meeting yesterday? We did. It was just for the Detroit staff.

00:07:25 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so red-headed stepchildren were excluded from that, which is good to know. I don't like that. Good to know. I love having...

00:07:30 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

It actually, believe it or not, was a very productive meeting, and you guys were sorely missed.

00:07:36 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait to be out of the loop on important things. Thank you. But wait a second.

00:07:39 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

More importantly than this, your house flooded.

00:07:42 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Wait, but I'm getting there, all right? We got to start from tat. It was a long day.

00:07:47 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So 7 a.m. She ran out of Red Bull. Then she almost got fired. Remember how energetic she was yesterday? Go ahead.

00:07:54 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

I had three salespeople yesterday. Yesterday was the first day, and I'm not kidding you, a month and a half. I didn't bring my makeup. I didn't bring my curling iron. I had greasy hair. I was in sweats, and I didn't have anything going on. Three salespeople showed up with clients to have me do social posts. I'm livid. I'm mad at this point. So angry. No heads up, no nothing. I'm on my way home. I'm calling my brother. I'm frustrated. I'm like, hey, do you need anything? I'm on my way home. And he said, probably some buckets. The basement is flooded. Okay, love that. I'm trying to get details from him. And he's just like, I don't know, Megan. It's a lot. It hung up on me. So that was what I was going home to. Get home. I'm in my driveway. My entire street, my entire section of my neighborhood is underwater. To the mayor, Wade Capsicavage. Hi, talking to you, we need to discuss some things. This ain't working for me, fam. This is not working. You've got to stop ignoring my neighborhood. We need help desperately. My entire street is under water. So, essentially, the city, I'm not kidding you, I felt like a real member of Toledo yesterday because I signed up for the city app to report problems.

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:09:07 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I raised a stink yesterday, and I'm not done today, boy. I'm going to show up to the offices. I swear to God, if I don't hear back, I'm going to be locking on some doors. Okay. Because I'm livid. Do you want this in your office? Take care of these problems. I can't take no more. So, if you're wondering here, I've got to pull up the app. Please, if you live in the city of Toledo, download the Engage Toledo app and start filing some reports. Because I need some stuff getting done. So, I'm calling offices. I'm sending in photographs. I'm emailing, I'm signed up. I start posting in the neighborhood Facebook groups, please report these issues. We got to get a member of the city out here because the city keeps saying, I think it's a U problem. And the 17 houses that are flooded are like, we think it's a U problem. Are you lying? You fool. Exactly.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Thank God she wasn't fired yesterday. Could you imagine her being unemployed and having time on her hands and being this angry?

00:10:07 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

All right. I got gaslit by the city of Toledo yesterday, and I'm not here for it. Then, on top of this, I'm eating my feelings, right? It's going to be a bad night. It was a bad day. I'm eating my feelings. We go out. We get pad thai. That is 1,000% the spiciest food I've ever had in my life. I'm crying.

00:10:23 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 7:

And now you're swollen from the sodium.

00:10:25 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm sweating. I'm crying. I'm laughing because I don't know how miserable it gets. I can't eat it. So I decided, you know what? I'm going to door dash another meal. What can I not have? Cheese. I can't have cheese, guys. My body does not agree. I ordered a burger. What comes on it? A whopping amount of cheese. I started hysterically crying. I threw my sandwich, I'm not kidding you, like a toddler, onto the ground and stormed up to bed and said, I'm done with today. Girl, you must get tall up.

00:10:53 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Wow. Nikki, you experienced the same thing?

00:10:56 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I live in Perrysburg And my basement flooded yesterday as well It's still flooded now Because I'm waiting for the drain guy to come But

00:11:07 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 7:

Man You know what, it was a lot of rain in a short period of time But then it's all the snow melting too That was the problem

00:11:15 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 4:

And usually every other year I have a guy come out And make the drain roots out But I usually do it In mid-March when things start to sob But Ponsatown and Phil was wrong Coming from a guy that lived by a river

00:11:33 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell you, if you tell everybody There is a pool in your basement It makes your place sound much cooler

00:11:39 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

Come over and see what the water looks like It's like the mommy river

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 7:

Megan, we all know For Valentine's Day, we're getting you a shop vac

00:11:48 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, I have a shop vac It was full of water last night

00:11:52 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 7:

The worst

00:11:54 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 5:

It was a very relaxing, nonchalant, no big things happening Thursday for me.

00:12:00 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 7:

Real quick, Megan, the boss wants to meet with you after the show today.

00:12:03 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 5:

That's honestly not funny. Don't do that to her. I literally had to talk her off a ledge, okay? I was like, you don't understand, Shannon. There's all these things going on today. Nobody's telling you what's going on. You were sending me screenshots.

00:12:14 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, I don't even know what she's talking about.

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

I know. I do.

00:12:19 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 3:

So I want to apologize for this in advance, but your house, you don't need to go see the Titanic because it's like the Titanic's house.

00:12:27 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 9:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that Game of Thrones premiered. You understand why I did it?

00:12:39 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

He ran away. He was a deserter.

00:12:51 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 7:

After his cheating scandal became public, this was the year that a televised apology of Tiger Woods aired.

00:12:58 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

I know people want to find out how I could be so selfish and so foolish. People want to know how I could have done these things to my wife, Elon, and to my children.

00:13:13 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 7:

And Baby from Justin Bieber was the big song. What year was this? We'll be back with more Mojo in the Morning, including your chance to win Taylor Swift tickets. Coming up next.

00:13:28 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 8:

00:13:42 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that Game of Thrones premiered on HBO. You understand why I did it?

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 1:

He ran away. He wasn't deserted.

00:13:52 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 7:

You understand why I had to kill him?

00:13:54 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 6:

I, Eddard, the House Stark, sentence you to die.

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 7:

Tiger apologized.

00:13:59 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 2:

I know people want to find out how I could be so selfish.

00:14:03 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 7:

For cheating on his wife.

00:14:06 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30. Shannon with

00:15:29 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 2:

a lot of dirty this morning, man. It is a busy, busy morning. What's happening? Yeah, Rihanna

00:15:33 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 3:

is Super Bowl halftime, so will be her first time in like seven years performing live on stage. And yesterday during a big press conference, she said the biggest talent in creating her halftime show has been nailing down a set list because the show is only 13 minutes. But think about this. Rihanna has eight albums. She's had eight albums in the past seven years. That's a whole lot of hits right there. Oh my God.

00:15:59 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 4:

There are probably about 39 versions of the set list right now. Yeah, I think we're on to our 39th. I mean, every little change counts.

00:16:09 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that crazy? She also talked about how her Caribbean culture will have a huge part of the halftime show, representing her country, Barbados, representing black women everywhere, and representing moms.

00:16:23 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 4:

When you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. You can do anything, and the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. So as scary as that was, because I haven't been on stage in seven years, there's something exhilarating about the challenge of it all, and it's important for me to do this this year. It's important for representation. It's important for my son to see that.

00:16:47 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 2:

I like that. I do, too. Good for her. You know what? We went through what we thought her set list would be, and we had the hardest time trying to narrow it down.

00:16:56 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I get the 39 versions.

00:16:59 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 2:

It makes sense. And Mike this morning, listen to this. Mike this morning brought in all his DJ equipment. For those that, you know, maybe are new to the show, Mike, back in the day, man, he was the guy. And he's going to mix live this morning a bunch of Rihanna songs.

00:17:15 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, cleared off the Bluey toys.

00:17:20 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 3:

That spy balloon from China was loaded, you guys. It had multiple antennas capable of collecting and geolocating communications. It had all of these huge solar panels that were capable of powering all sorts of intelligence collection sensors. And more. This is Martha Raddatz from ABC News.

00:17:41 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 1:

The State Department is saying that the balloon was capable of high-resolution surveillance and intercepting communications. But officials say military bases and nuclear missile sites took steps to protect sensitive information. and they're confident that none was collected.

00:17:57 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

What's more, the United States says the manufacturer of that balloon has ties to the Chinese military. Billie Eilish and her family are finally getting court-ordered protection from that weird guy who keeps breaking into her childhood home. We've talked about this before. Billie appearing virtually in court yesterday for a hearing where a judge granted her a five-year restraining order against 39-year-old Christopher Anderson. Billy's parents, Patrick and Maggie, and then her brother, Phineas, also getting protection here. Just last month, Billy's dad claimed that this dude broke into their home after professing his love for Billy, even though she's never met him before. And Billy said she didn't feel safe visiting her family anymore, especially after they had to call the police to the home five times just in the month of December alone as a result of this guy's creepy visits. And lastly, Jennifer Lopez is making fun of her husband after fans said he looked real miserable at last weekend's Grammy Awards. You mean that PR that they're trying to do to fix their... Right, right. That, Megan, yeah. Yesterday, J-Lo shared the newly released trailer for Air, which Ben Affleck directed and stars in. And she tweeted alongside the trailer, Air cannot wait And as the clip begins The words My husband's happy face Are written across the screen And you see Ben With this like Blank Stoic expression On his face So you can see that Along with all of today's Dirty On the Dirty page At mojointhemorning.com Mojo in the mornings

00:19:36 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 5:

Dirty on the 30 And another world famous Phone scam is next.

00:19:56 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning. Do a phone scam right now.

00:20:00 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 1:

So Rachel told us that Hannah, who she works with, is like so patient on the phones when she'll get like an old person calling in. And so Spike decided to use that idea to mess with her with a phone scam. We do phone scams weekday mornings at 6.50, 7.50, and 9.50.

00:20:21 - 00:20:26 | Speaker 2:

Hello? You're home with the phone scams. Hello? This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:20:26 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 5:

hello and thank you for calling horizon for horizon press one

00:20:33 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 4:

how can i help you yes hello i'm calling for help with my cell phone because it's really messing up lately um what happens is every time i call somebody they hang up because i believe when I call, the display says potential spam. Is that what it says when you see it? Potential spam?

00:20:59 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 5:

Um, it didn't say potential spam on our phone. It said

00:21:02 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 4:

anonymous. Oh, this is so frustrating. Because my name is Paul, and my last name is Tential Spam. And so I think somebody made a mistake there at your place and they typed it in wrong. Can you fix it for me? Um, I don't know if I'll be able too sir um were you trying to call um were you trying to call your phone provider yes i'm calling you guys at verizon no sir we're horizon we're we're the oh my gosh see this happens too sometimes i try and call one business and it dials another number i told my phone call verizon so you can fix it um unfortunately sir i don't think i can be able to fix it Well, somebody's got to fix it because I can't talk to anybody. Every time I call, they hang up.

00:21:58 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 5:

If you want, sir, I can pull up the Verizon number and I can give it to you. So that way, if you want, you can try and type it in and see if they can call, if they can pick up for you. I'm sure they will try and pick up.

00:22:09 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 4:

Thank goodness. Yes. Thank you.

00:22:15 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 5:

I can give you the number to the closest one that is here. because I went there just recently for my Internet provider.

00:22:23 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

It's 800-800-880-8801. So the first three is 800-800-880-800-8. Oh, my goodness. Hang on. I think I wrote too many eights down.

00:22:42 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 5:

All right. So it's going to be eight. All right. So the first three is 800.

00:22:48 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 4:

Got it. Thank you so much. Wonderful. And is there someone there at Verizon that can help me? Tell them it's potential spam on the phone.

00:23:03 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 5:

Sir, we're not Verizon. We're the Horizon. We're not the Verizon Fios company. Oh. I believe when you asked your phone to call Verizon, I think it accidentally thought you said Horizon.

00:23:16 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 4:

Right.

00:23:16 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 5:

But, like I said, I can provide you the phone number to the closest Verizon in the area. Wonderful.

00:23:22 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 4:

I will take that number. Thank you.

Nice to have you on here. Say hello to your challenger from Lyndon. Jenny. Hi, Jenny.

00:24:36 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 6:

Hi, everybody. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning.

00:24:39 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. All right, we're going to lock you up in a soundproof area, Holly, so you're going to hear nothing, and then you're going to all of a sudden hear the warm voice of KP, our producer, or Lydia, which one? Oh, KP's in here. Lydia is in there. So her voice may be not as sultry as KP's, but it's warm. It's beautiful. All right? Okay. All right, hold on one second. Tell us how it is. I can hear KP's voice because she's over there. Got a little giggle going on off the microphone. Jenny, five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty, always goes to the champion. My first question has nothing to do with this. Is it just me or did this week just crawl? Oh, my gosh. She's so dead. Yeah. Today feels like Sunday. Yeah, it's amazing. All right, here we go. Five questions. Question number one. Rihanna is the halftime performer for Sunday's Super Bowl. Name one of the artists who performed during the halftime show last year. Eminem and Dr. Dre. You are a tryhard. You only need to go one. Number two, question number two. Actress Emma Roberts is celebrating her 32nd birthday today. Who is her famous aunt? Julia Roberts. Question number three. Magic Mike's Last Dance is out in theaters this weekend. Who plays the famed stripper Mike Lane in the movies? Channing Tatum. Question number four. Kylie Richards is seven months. Kyle. I'm sorry, Kyle. Kyle Richards is seven months sober. Thank you, by the way, for telling me that. Because usually these yahoos like Mike and Spike and Megan, they never will tell me that. I hate interrupting you, but you said you wanted to be interrupted. So, okay. All right. Kylie Richards. No, I'm sorry. Kyle Richards is seven months sober, and her incredible body transformation. Which franchise does Kyle star? The TV show or the... Yeah, what's the name of the show? Oh, one of my favorites, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And question number five, John Travolta is honoring the late Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John in a new Super Bowl ad for T-Mobile. What was John Travolta's character's name in Grease? Oh, my gosh. I have never seen that movie in my life. Oh, my gosh. Three seconds. I'm going to say, like, Elliot. All right. Let's bring a champ back from a soundproof area. I like that you guessed. It was a creative guess. How did Jenny do? Four out of five. Four out of five. That's good. Yeah. Not too bad. Question number one. And Holly, Rihanna is the halftime performer for the Super Bowl this year. Name one of the artists who performed during last year's halftime. Eminem. Yes. One to one. Question number two, actress Emma Roberts is celebrating her 32nd birthday today. Who is her famous aunt?

00:27:40 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 1:

Julia Roberts. Yes. Two to two. Question number three, Magic Mike's Last Dance is out in theaters this weekend. Who plays famed stripper Mike Lane in the movies? Channing Tatum? Yes. Three to three. Question number four. Kyle Richards is seven months sober and also that incredible body transformation. On which reality franchise does Kyle star? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yes. Four to four. And a perfect score if you get this one right. John Travolta is honoring the late Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John in a Super Bowl ad for T-Mobile. True or false? I'm sorry, not true or false. I don't know why I said true or false. It was like in my head Name John Travolta's character's name In the movie Grease Danny Zuko There you go Five to four Congratulations Thank you Congrats Perfect score, five out of five And Jenny's got some homework to do She's got to watch Grease It's a good movie It actually is You know what? It's like campy and weird and fun But it's a classic It's a staple growing up in my house. Is it just me? But I have not seen any of the commercials that are coming out, except for I just saw this morning I could click on to watch that T-Mobile one. Oh, see, I've watched a bunch of them. Did you? I think it's good that I'm staying away. Have you seen the Alicia Silverstone one for Rocket and the Clueless? Yeah, there's a bunch of them. Honestly, I think it's good to stay away from them. Because if you stay away from them, you get more excited watching. For sure. So don't click on them if they tell you. I know that the companies want you to. But, Jenny, we're setting you up with a $50 DoorDash gift card. Congratulations to you. Also, thank you. And we will see you next week, Holly. Sounds good. Thank you. Looking forward to it. Thank you. It's Mojo in the Mornings. Five at 6.55. Mojo in the Mornings show. Getting ready for the big announcement of our Super Toe winner. I'm excited about this And probably like over an hour Actually after we get done with throwback Throwdown and all that stuff We'll get into that So get ready to find out whose toe is going to be the SuperToe, it could be yours if you sent it in to us.

00:30:03 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 3:

And who won on the show.

00:30:05 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right. Who's the SuperToe winner. Let me just say this to you. I actually went yesterday and got a pedicure because, not that it would help me at all with the SuperToe thing, but I realized from looking at my toe in that little, you know, picture that you had put on social media, KP.

00:30:23 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:30:24 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 1:

It needed some work.

00:30:25 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 3:

You know, I also soaked my feet in water yesterday. It just happened to be the basement floodwater. I used a little pumice to get all the flakes off my toes after I saw that picture, too.

00:30:37 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Well, so, yes, let me tell you this story, okay? And then Megan will get on to bashing the city of Toledo more and the mayor. Capitivish. I'm coming for you, Capsicavish. Capsicavish.

00:30:53 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm coming for you. I love how you say it differently every single time.

00:30:55 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 1:

it's always scott and megan uh spell it out phonetically for me and phonetically works uh worse than just looking at it so okay so yes so yesterday i went in to go get a a pedicure and i go to the place that i always end up going to um it's this place uh called dk nails and it's uh it's over on orchard lake and the the the husband and wife that that run the place are like the sweetest people ever i love them to death they're like honestly become family i've watched more episodes of general hospital sitting there in that chair because they always have general they always have the abc tv shows on so i get the i get the usually soap operas or whatever that are on there so um i'm getting my you know feet soaked and i can hear somebody talking and i didn't know exactly who was and then she came over to go and do my toes and she had her phone there and there was a woman that was on the phone talking and it took me just a second to figure out what it was because i've lived in this moment before it was her child's teacher giving her a parent teacher conference so she was doing her parent teacher conference while she was doing my feed and i'm going to say this to you guys because we all sit there from you know time to time and we sit there and think to ourselves you know our lives are tough here's a woman who's got a she's got to do that because she's got you know she's got to pay her bills right she's got to pay her yeah and i'm i'm looking at this thing going would you like any advice i don't know what to say like i was actually i was so invested almost to the point where my investment came where i wanted to put her on hold for a second and say can i actually uh comment real quick like i i got like lost in listening to this teacher talk about her son uh who who by the way is the cutest kid ever Afterwards, I asked her, I said, show me pictures of him because, you know, I wanted to see what he looked like.

00:32:52 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 4:

How's he doing in school?

00:32:54 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 1:

She was, this teacher was raving about him. She was absolutely raving about him.

00:32:57 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 5:

That annoys me, though, because I think the pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing moment. And there's always somebody next to me on their speakerphone catching up with their daughter or doing something. And the whole room hears their conversation. I'm just like, that's not appropriate.

00:33:12 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you, but as long as you're not talking to me, I'm good. That's what I can't, really? And I don't mean for that to sound rude, but if I'm getting a pedicure, I just want, I want to be left alone. I want to read a magazine or scroll through my phone.

00:33:25 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 1:

And honestly, Shannon, you got me on this one. I love it eavesdropping out of other people's conversations. Oh, I know you do. As long as they're not asking me questions about the conversations.

00:33:35 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead and do whatever you want to do, but just don't talk to me.

00:33:38 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 1:

So here's the thing. And by the way, I was the only person that was in there. I was the only customer that was in there at that time. And she knows me, so I think that that's why she felt comfortable with still doing my feet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had anybody because there was nobody else there. So she would have had to close down for a second. So I'm overhearing the teacher tell her that her young son occasionally has biting issues where he wants to bite. So, you know, when you're little kids, does Milo go through this at all, Mike, where Milo would go through a biting phase where he'd bite his sister?

00:34:12 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 3:

Cecily did for a second. Milo doesn't bite.

00:34:14 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 1:

Milo's not a biter? Uh-uh. God love him for not being a biter, because I think I've been bit by every one of my kids. You know, I think each one of them have taken, like, a chunk out of me.

00:34:25 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 3:

He growls like a cat for some reason. I don't know why. Wait, he growls like a cat? Yeah, like he'll go, er, and put his hands up like a tiger.

00:34:33 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 2:

Do you know if he does that at school? Well, he's not in school yet. He's still, yeah, he's only three.

00:34:38 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

Or he's going to, like, daycare or anything like that? Does he do that there?

00:34:40 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 2:

At daycare, he might do it with the sitter.

00:34:43 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 1:

I've seen you growl like a kitty at some of our parties a little late at night. Okay, so she's talking about how the teacher's talking about how her son has got a little biting going on and that they have to work on that. And mom. Mom says, I know exactly how to fix that. This is how we fix it at home. We bite him back. Oh, yeah. And if you bite him back, he doesn't want to do it anymore. So then she goes.

00:35:10 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 4:

She told the teacher to bite him?

00:35:11 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 1:

And the teacher goes, well, she goes, she's like kind of like stumbled a little bit, like kind of a little confused. And then the teacher says, the teacher says, well, we can't do that. And she goes, no, no, no, no, no. I give you full permission to bite my son.

00:35:24 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 2:

I still don't think you can do that. That is hysterical.

00:35:27 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 1:

I was dying laughing and I'm like going, oh, my God. And this teacher, by the way, said at the end of the conversation, she's like, you are the greatest mom. I love you. Like, she knew that this, you know, this is a working mom doing her thing. Yeah. But I thought it was great. I want to ask this question just to any of the teachers that are listening. Have you ever had a parent give you permission to, like, in this case, bite the kid back or whatever, you know? Because I will say this to you. When Joe was at Abbott Middle School, I gave Mrs. Shalosky all the time permission to smack him upside the head. I know she would never do it. She's a sweet lady. But I'm like, man, if Joe ever talks back, you just smack him right upside that head. Give him what for what they always called it back. What for 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548. KP, I could picture Mama KP with six kids given permission to the teachers in Lake Orion.

00:36:20 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what? None of us in our right mind would ever consider biting my mother.

00:36:25 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 1:

Why? Because what would happen?

00:36:27 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 2:

She'd bite us and do something else. Crack a frying pan over there. I don't know.

00:36:32 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. How did your mom, as a single mom, go through that many parent-teacher conferences? She's super one.

00:36:40 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if she did all of them, to be honest. She would probably hate me. No, she went to some of them, for sure.

00:36:46 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 1:

Which kids did she not have to do it for? Because we would go to Jacob's parent-teacher conferences, my son Jacob, and the teachers would be like, why are you here? He's perfect.

00:36:54 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 2:

My mom only went to the conferences with the bad kids. So the kids that have issues, she'd do like an annual checkup on her good kids.

00:37:03 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 1:

Just to not look like a bad parent. 8,000 mile maintenance. Every one of Joe's teachers got double the Christmas gifts and end of the school year gifts because of what they had to put up with them. What's going on, Steph?

00:37:17 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 5:

Hi there.

00:37:18 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Are you a teacher?

00:37:20 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 5:

I am. I teach middle school, and I have had parents ask me to put them closer to me so that I can reach them and smack them.

00:37:33 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. I love it.

00:37:35 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 5:

And we've also had some parents ask to double after-school intentions and things like that. It's always good when you have support from parents at home. Yeah. It doesn't always happen.

00:37:45 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 1:

You know what it is, though? Because a lot of the parents probably are like, my kid's perfect. They would never act up, right?

00:37:51 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we've actually had kids say, go ahead and call home because my mom won't believe you.

00:37:57 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's wow. Man, smack that kid.

00:38:01 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 5:

Exactly.

00:38:02 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 1:

Steph, what's going on? I'm sorry, that was Steph. I was just talking to you. Melissa, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:08 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 4:

So I am a teacher myself at a daycare, so I work with young kids. And I have had parents give me permission to bite their kids back because we have a lot of biters. And as a parent myself I have given teachers permission To Be a little more forceful with my child Than you would normally do Because I know that my kid is

00:38:31 - 00:38:32 | Unknown:

Rough

00:38:32 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 1:

And did the teachers and you react Like this teacher did This teacher was like I can't do that By the way the principal was also on the phone At the same time and the principal Was like yeah no can't do it We're not going to be able to do that

00:38:45 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh absolutely All of our teachers are like, we can't do that. No, it's okay. I mean, my coworkers will look at my daughter and say, I'm going to call your mom. And I'm like, okay.

00:38:59 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 1:

I like that. Liz, what's happening?

00:39:03 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

00:39:04 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on? Are you a teacher?

00:39:07 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm a third grade teacher.

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And what have you had a parent tell you that you could do?

00:39:12 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 3:

um well i contacted a parent about their student blurting constantly talking uh during class and they told me that if they do that just yell time out at them and then they were not allowed to talk for the rest of the day apparently that was the signal to them that worked at home and did you yeah i have not tried it because i feel like that's a little extreme but i thought i was like maybe i'll try it one day i'll just yell time out when he walks in the door and then he can't talk

00:39:40 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 1:

all day i always want what's this what's the clapping thing that they do the teachers do like for silence yeah or to get through one one two three eyes on me yeah there's all sorts of do

00:39:51 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 3:

you do that liz in your classroom um we like do bump for the bump bump and they like oh there you

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

go okay

00:40:00 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask you this question, Liz, because I'm assuming that you're on your way into work right now. Do you ever stop at a bar or wish that bars were open this early in the morning so you can get like a drink or so before you had to go in?

00:40:10 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 3:

It would be nice.

00:40:14 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 5:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

00:40:19 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 2:

The failed Britney Spears intervention. It was supposed to happen on Tuesday. I'll tell you why it failed to happen and why her friends and family wanted it to happen in the first place. All of that coming up in the Dirty.

00:40:32 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 5:

I want to take you away. That's the tape into the music. DJ let it play. Hey, what's up?

00:40:59 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 1:

This is Rihanna, and you're hanging with my favorite morning show, Mojo in the Morning.

00:41:06 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. Coming up here in just a few. Mixed mask to flash. I know that he's not DJ Sticky Fingers.

00:41:18 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 2:

Four Fingers. Four Fingers.

00:41:19 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 4:

DJ Four Fingers. I always forget the name of it. I know he's not DJ Four Fingers, and I know he's got a lot of envy to DJ Four Fingers. I'll be the other finger to make it five. You'd be the other finger there, yes. You know that you probably are wishing that you were like me. I do. But I will say this to you, Mike. You are definitely a better mixer than I am. I'll give you that, okay? You got that on me. Thanks. Hold on. Mojo, you're being a little bitch today Yes, I am, thank you

00:41:55 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 3:

I just can't be music

00:41:57 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 6:

Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da

00:42:27 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 4:

Earpod karaoke

00:42:29 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh

00:42:31 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 4:

Remember we should do that with Rihanna Where we all have to put in our headphones And we only hear the music that's playing off of our headphones But the listeners get to hear us

00:42:39 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 2:

And you can't look up the lyrics

00:42:40 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 4:

The problem is when we do this thing All you hear me do is I'm breathing like heavy As I'm trying to keep up with the song So alright That's happening in just a little bit Also we have Lil Wayne tickets coming up in a few moments dirty and a phone scam it's mojo in the morning show so you're lying you're gonna is this is it

00:43:04 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 2:

a lie if you don't say anything i don't know she's gonna find out but i'm just gonna call myself out right off the bat for being a bad mom you don't have to tell me i'm a bad mom i already know i'm a bad mom yeah they'll still tell me don't worry you know um i just you guys know this i'm not a huge camping person. Mike, I see all your videos and your photos and how much you and your family love to go camping. I wish I loved it. When I was little, my dad used to take my sisters and I to this place called Rondeau Park in Canada and we would camp and it was great. But now it's just not the most fun for me. So Lucy, my third grader, we just got an email. She's in Girl Scouts. and we just got an email that there's like a camp happening the entire first weekend in May for her Girl Scout troop and we're supposed to sign up you know by the end of this weekend if we want to go I don't want to go oh my god you are such a bad I'm not going thanks Megan I know I'm not going I so I am gonna try and not tell her about it and just really cross my fingers that she doesn't find out about it so that we don't have to go on that camping trip.

00:44:16 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 4:

And you don't have anything going on that weekend?

00:44:18 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 2:

Nothing. I really don't. It is a free weekend. I just don't love, like, I'm not into that at all. She does, like, a one-day camp, and it starts at, like, 8 in the morning and goes until 10 o'clock at night, and that day is, like, I'm cool with it. It's a long day, but I, staying two overnights. Is it the one in, like, Port Huron or Linden? Couldn't tell you, because I just deleted that email really quickly.

00:44:42 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Shannon. I know there's a really nice one, too, in Mackinac, or Mackinac Island.

00:44:45 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 7:

Is it Camp Libby?

00:44:46 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 6:

It's like glamping. I mean, you're in a cabin, and they really... There's indoor bathrooms. Yeah.

00:44:53 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 7:

And a kitchen.

00:44:54 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 6:

You're robbing her of this childhood time. I'm not robbing her of anything.

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

We'll camp in my...

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 6:

No, she's never had a sleepover. She's never done a sleepover.

00:45:03 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 5:

My daughters still talk about that. That's great. We'll camp in my backyard or in my living room.

00:45:07 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 6:

Spike, you take her. Honest to God, I couldn't even tell you the camp. Now I'm trying to look back through the emails. And so I'm texting some of the other moms. I'm like, you're not going to that camp thing first weekend in May, right?

00:45:20 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 2:

And what'd they say?

00:45:22 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 6:

One can't go and the other is undecided. The two moms that I texted.

00:45:26 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Can you find out what the excuse of can't go was? And maybe you just had that excuse too?

00:45:30 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 6:

And by the way, her people are saying, you don't have to go let her go with the troop leader. No, this is, the moms have to go.

00:45:36 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

So, okay, so.

00:45:37 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 6:

And if it's a dad that goes, they have to stay in an entirely separate cabin. Andrew's not going. Are you kidding me?

00:45:41 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to throw this out there. I'm going to say, I think majority of parents have done what you're doing. Not told their kids about something because they didn't want to do it themselves. What? Or they didn't want to be part. Oh, yeah. It's not being a bad parent. It's honestly just saving yourself a freaking headache. That's what I think it is. and I agree with Shannon on this one. What's up, Kimberly?

00:46:03 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 9:

I thought I was going to get slaughtered. Hi, guys. I was, I believe, the only Girl Scout in my troop that didn't go camping because my mom didn't want to, and I'm 30 years old, so years later, it's still kind of... Oh, stop it.

00:46:16 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 2:

Do you need therapy because of it?

00:46:22 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 9:

It can't be that bad. Just go with your daughter.

00:46:25 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 5:

When all your friends win, and you're the one in the troop that doesn't have the stories they have.

00:46:29 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 6:

I do all the other things. Yeah. I was so sad.

00:46:34 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Remember when I did the...

00:46:38 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 5:

Pinewood Derby? I have to help you with that.

00:46:40 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, but that was a bad one, yeah. But no, but remember when I got on a bus and drove to New York with Jacob? And I was like, I don't want to do this thing. I don't want to be doing that thing.

00:46:49 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 6:

Like, I'll do that. I'll do all the field trips. I'll do all the Mackinac.

00:46:51 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 2:

A bus sounds better to me than a cabin. I'll do all of that.

00:46:54 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 6:

Or just a camping thing. Or even a tent.

00:46:56 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 4:

what's going on uh bob shannon you gotta suck it up buttercup you gotta go i've been there before i listen i've been there before if it's the one like i heard spike say port huron it's just north of port huron right on like lake huron yeah and real nice cabins It was a fun time. I went there. My dad's girlfriend was the Girl Scout leader, whatever. So we got to, like, go in there as just, like, a family, just us four for the weekend. But it's a pretty sweet little place.

00:47:36 - 00:47:36 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 6:

That's great.

00:47:37 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 2:

Poor Lucy.

00:47:39 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 6:

It's not, like, super candid. It's not making me feel bad.

00:47:42 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 2:

No? No. Mojo in the Morning Show. Hello, Christy.

00:47:48 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 8:

you know what mojo i agree with you and i agree with shannon shannon good for you for deleting the email i like you christy it's not like it's a headache you would have a three-day migraine it's just camping is not the thing anymore it was when you were little and now what are you

00:48:12 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 5:

talking about. It's not for you to have a scene. It's for the little kids.

00:48:17 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 8:

I understand that, but even the kids, like my kids would be like, no, we're not doing camping. I actually

00:48:24 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 6:

think Luce would say she didn't want to go, but I'm too scared to ask in the event that she changes her mind and say, no, I think she would not want to go. Oh, not want to? No, she's like not super into it either, but I'm too scared

00:48:36 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 5:

to ask her. Let's call her and ask her.

00:48:38 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 6:

I'm too scared to ask her in the event that she's like, yeah, I really want to do it this year.

00:48:42 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 8:

You went by your motherly gut instinct and you hit that delete button. So go, Shannon. I'm right behind you. Wow.

00:48:50 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 5:

I would have done the same thing. Neither of you women can complain that your daughter's looking at her device this year because you're encouraging her to stay indoors and look at that phone.

00:48:59 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 6:

I'm not encouraging her to do any of that. I'm just encouraging her to not go to the scan.

00:49:03 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

What happens if Lucy's friends say something to her, though? Have you thought about that?

00:49:08 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 6:

They're going to. I deleted that email so fast I didn't think about anything.

00:49:12 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 5:

That's what I'm telling you. They're all going to talk about it.

00:49:15 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to show up one day, Shannon, with my camper. Just casually show up with the camper.

00:49:18 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 6:

And I'm going to be like, Uncle Mike is going to take you camping, Lucy. I would love to.

00:49:24 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Julie?

00:49:26 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:49:27 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:49:29 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you've got to suck it up. I love you, but you have got to do that for her. Suck it up, Shannon.

00:49:39 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 2:

Suck it up. That's the new motto of today's show for Shannon. Suck it up. What's up, Melinda?

00:49:46 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 7:

Don't do it, Shannon. Don't do it. Those friends are horrible. I know. They say they're great. It is not camping.

00:49:52 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 6:

I love all the people that are texting, if you go loose, you will cherish those memories forever. Let me tell you about the day camp we went to a couple of months ago. at about...

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 3:

Three o'clock in the afternoon, she goes, Mom, can we just go home now?

00:50:04 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 7:

Can you imagine if she did that?

00:50:05 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 3:

So I'm not doing that for an entire weekend.

00:50:07 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 7:

Can you imagine if she did that, like, hours into this being a camp thing?

00:50:11 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 4:

I have a question about that day camp. Who was she with?

00:50:14 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean? Her troop.

00:50:16 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 4:

The whole troop? Yeah, it was the same thing. Were you there? Yes. Spreading your negative vibes about the day camp?

00:50:20 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, are you kidding me? I was so happy at that camp. It was fake, but I was.

00:50:26 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 7:

I volunteered to be in the skit. It was only a day camp. I did it all.

00:50:30 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 3:

I knew I was going home to my own bed.

00:50:31 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 7:

You were counting the minutes, too. By the way, if my kid ever does that, where they say, can we just go home? I'm like, hurry up. Let's go. Grab your stuff. I would have left right at that particular moment. What's up, Lindsay? It's Mojo in the morning. You say, Shannon, don't feel bad?

00:50:46 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 5:

Do not feel bad. I'm calling with my 15-year-old son, and we did it for Boy Scouts, and we left at 5 a.m. Peeled right out of there. Never going back.

00:50:56 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 7:

And if that was the last you ever saw that camp, you were a happy woman.

00:50:59 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 5:

woman weren't you yeah my daughter did girl scout one year and then she quit so we didn't have to

00:51:05 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 7:

ever do that so yeah get out of there um I like uh that this is the number one thing people are saying uh what's Sam saying what's that Sam Shannon I think you're in the wrong I think you should

00:51:17 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 6:

have asked Lucy and gotten her opinion and then made your decision off of it there's still time

00:51:23 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 7:

when have your kids ever had a voice in anything they should not have a voice Yes, they should This is not a democracy

00:51:31 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 6:

This is a small thing She can ask Lucy her opinion And here's the thing, Shannon even herself said She doesn't think Lucy will want to do it I know, but I'm scared she might change her mind

00:51:42 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 7:

How about this Say, Lucy, you could do this Find an alternative that she would be much better doing See what she really would like to do

00:51:52 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's just rude That's just rude

00:51:54 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, like, all cute, but there's a crazy side, too.

00:51:59 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 7:

That chick is a ticking time bomb. Get out of the building.

00:52:02 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:07 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 7:

We got a phone scam coming up in moments. Right now, Shannon, with what's trending this hour in the Dirty on the 30.

00:52:12 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his second MVP award last night at the annual NFL honors. He threw for 5,250 yards, pretty high, 41 touchdowns. He's also very aware that he is trying to do something that has not been done since 1999. Kurt Warner with the 1999 St. Louis Rams was the last player to win regular season MVP and also a Super Bowl. And adding to the specialness of Sunday's game, it's the first time two black quarterbacks are going up against each other with Mahomes and Jalen Hurts.

00:52:48 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 1:

To be on the world stage and have two black quarterbacks starting in the Super Bowl, I think it's special.

00:52:54 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 3:

Jalen Hurts talking about the same thing.

00:52:56 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 1:

The next generation of quarterbacks, that four-year-old, five-year-old kid, regardless of what someone may say or have an opinion about you, you can do it. You can do it, too.

00:53:07 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 7:

I have a stat that Spike's not going to like. First off, everybody's picking Philadelphia. That scares me if I was a Philadelphia Eagles fan because everybody's picking them.

00:53:15 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 2:

Is that bad juju or what?

00:53:17 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 7:

No, but I'm going to give you a stat that is not a good stat. The Eagles will be wearing their green uniforms. The Kansas City Chiefs will be wearing their white uniforms. Majority of teams wearing white uniforms win a Super Bowl than the teams that wear the dark uniforms. But I'm saying, I'm just saying that you got to be careful. I always feel like in sports, when everybody picks a team to win, that's the one where you go, uh-oh.

00:53:42 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 4:

They were robbed at the NFL Honors last night. The Eagles went home with zero trophies, and I was okay with that. I'm like, you know what? You want to ignore Jalen Hurts and everybody? Don't worry about it. We'll win the Lombardi, the one that matters.

00:53:52 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 7:

It will fire everybody up maybe, huh? Mm-hmm. All right.

00:53:55 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Britney Spears' husband, Sam Ashkari, her manager, and a whole bunch of medical professionals reportedly planned an intervention to get her some help after a series of concerning behavior allegedly left them really worried for her safety. So, Britney's been struggling with some mental health issues as well as some substance abuse issues, excuse me, from what I'm hearing, and has been displaying all sorts of erratic behavior, both publicly and behind closed doors. Now, this alleged intervention was supposed to take place on Tuesday, this past Tuesday, but it was canceled when Brittany caught on to what was happening. Brittany's manager had rented this home in L.A. in an effort to bring her over without making her suspicious that an intervention was happening. Her husband planned to take Brittany for the visit where doctors would be present, and the discussion would center around getting some targeted help for her over the next couple of months. And the plan was for Brittany to stay in this rental home for about two or three months, during which time she would receive medical treatment, psychological counseling, so on and so forth. Now, for the record, Brittany...

00:55:00 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 1:

Brittany's sons and her dad not involved in any of this. So this intervention falls apart, but Brittany did reportedly agree to meet with a doctor on Wednesday. That meeting went well, I'm told, but that's all I know. Now, on Instagram, Brittany is denying this whole story. She wrote this long caption, and I'm not going to read the entire thing for you, but part of what she wrote, It makes me sick to my stomach that it's even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died. I mean, at some point, enough is enough. I'm probably going to have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there's obviously a lot of people who don't wish me well. I'm honestly not surprised at all. Again, doing the best I can. No, folks, it's not 2007. It's 2023, and I'm making my first homemade lasagna at home. I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room. As my hubby says it best, don't believe everything you read. And lastly, I love when stories like this go viral. A bride and a groom are standing at the altar. And she whispers something to him about some cookie bacon that's going to happen after the wedding. Oh, and they caught it. She had a microphone.

00:56:08 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

00:56:09 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 1:

She has a microphone on her. Excited to lose your virginity.

00:56:12 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 6:

I have a mic that's always going to be enshrined in our wedding video.

00:56:21 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 1:

Are you excited to lose your virginity tonight?

00:56:25 - 00:56:25 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:56:25 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 1:

Is that she whispers and it gets caught on the video?

00:56:28 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 6:

Yes, he is. I would even go to the reception if I was that guy at that moment.

00:56:33 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

The city is gaslighting me.

00:57:36 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes, and it's their fault that her home was flooded, she says, right?

00:57:43 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 4:

Megan, your boss or my boss is your godfather. Who's your boss? Matt Lewandowski.

00:57:51 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Tell him I said hi. I will. He's my dad's best friend. Oh, my God. My dad hangs out with him like three times a week.

00:57:59 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 5:

Does he have a shop vac that can help clear out the basement? Yeah. Yeah.

00:58:04 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 2:

You know what's bad? I forgot Mr. Lewandowski was my godfather.

00:58:08 - 00:58:09 | Unknown:

Wait.

00:58:09 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 6:

You didn't even know who your godfather was? You were like, who is it?

00:58:11 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 2:

I know. I think Mrs. Turley is my godmother. And then Mr. Lewandowski is my godfather. I totally forgot about that. Sorry. Small world. I love that.

00:58:21 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

00:58:22 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

00:58:25 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 6:

So funny.

00:58:26 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 4:

Small world.

00:58:26 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 6:

Well, you hang on the phone for a second and make sure that you enjoy that concert, okay?

00:58:32 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Thank you.

00:58:34 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 5:

Mike from Mojo in the Morning. He may have never made the team, but he was always a good ball boy. I think somebody said balls. I heard balls. I heard balls. Can't say balls on the radio. Gotta have balls do that. Pretty ballsy. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:58:47 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 6:

Now all you need is cable so you can watch the Super Bowl on Sunday.

00:58:50 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, that's all I want. I don't know why I don't have cable yet. Wait, so how are you going to watch it? I don't know. I genuinely have no idea. Because I've used every one of those free streaming services up until this point. So every trial I've used, every one. I just don't want to pay $80 to watch the Super Bowl.

00:59:06 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm going to have to do.

00:59:07 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 5:

What are you doing?

00:59:08 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to pay for Hulu Live for literally the day. And then I'll cancel it again.

00:59:12 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 6:

Why don't I just give you guys my Xfinity password? Is that possible? I don't know. I have no idea. But yes.

00:59:20 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 2:

I'll give you $40. I will give it.

00:59:22 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 6:

Hold on, hold on. $43.

00:59:24 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, $47. Hold on.

00:59:26 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo's agent here. I need to see all offers on the table before we make a decision. Okay, okay.

00:59:31 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 3:

I'll give you $50, and I won't make fun of you for an entire day. Oh. One day? I don't know.

00:59:38 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 6:

That's as much as you can ask. Hold on a second. That's unbelievable.

00:59:43 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for having Mojo's back there, Megan. Shut up. You are the best. Wow.

00:59:47 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 6:

Real quick, I want to throw this out there. I don't know if it's possible, but I will give it to both you guys. But if it knocks me off my television at home, I'm going to be pissed.

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, how would that work if we don't have, like, don't you need a box? No.

01:00:00 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 4:

No, you stream on, do you have like a smart TV or do you have anywhere you can stream on your thing? Yeah. But don't talk about this on the radio because Xfinity is listening and they're an advertiser. And I don't want them, but it is showing proof that we love Xfinity. Yes, we do. Yes, we do. We love Xfinity. We love Xfinity. Yeah, we love them. Or maybe Anthony, who is from the Imagine Theater, will do what he did last year. Remember, Mike, he gave you your own movie theater. Oh, that was awesome.

01:00:31 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 3:

They are showing it for the public.

01:00:34 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're doing it actually in Royal Oak at their Caesars. They have like a gaming one where you can actually go in and you can even gamble, do some gambling. But then also what, Canton is doing one, I think I read. They had sent a great press release out that gave me everything and all I remembered was the food they were having. But yeah So I don't know Maybe you figure out Maybe if Spike invites Everybody over to his house For the Super Bowl party Mike

01:01:03 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 3:

I know but you can't talk there I invited you guys

01:01:05 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 4:

You're not allowed to talk though Although I do

01:01:06 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 3:

No you can talk like Normal people watching football Meg doesn't want to be Standing around the kitchen island Chatting with wives That have no interest in the game She wants to watch the game I'm sorry wait Spike you invited us over For Super Bowl Yeah When? On the air Two days ago on the air Oh on the air Multiple times

01:01:22 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 4:

But that's usually one of those invites that you kind of know it really wasn't an invite.

01:01:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 3:

I need a letter with like a... Or an e-vite. Send me the e-vite.

01:01:33 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 4:

I can't get Spike to answer a text nowadays anyways. I don't even know if he actually sent me anything.

01:01:36 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 3:

Do an e-vite. Well, then in that case, I did send you guys an invite. Why didn't you answer?

01:01:41 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 4:

Do the e-vite and then have it be so obnoxious. Those e-vites are so obnoxious. They send you 8,000 reminders.

01:01:47 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 3:

No, the reason there's no e-vite is because then it gets catty with people going, well, you got an invite. I didn't get an invite. And then people in the office getting all, it's like, no, this is just right here at the show.

01:01:57 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Sean, what's going on? What's up? How you doing? You got some help for Mike?

01:02:03 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, get an Amazon Fire Stick jailbroken. Oh, where do you buy one of those?

01:02:08 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 4:

I remember I used to have to go to Canada for stuff like that.

01:02:11 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

You can get them from Amazon.com Or like any store But the jailbreaking part is the hard part

01:02:17 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 4:

So are you the guy that knows how to do that? Are you the person? Do you also know how to fly Chinese spy balloons?

01:02:26 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't know how to do that

01:02:28 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 3:

I feel like that's what all the weed guys started doing When weed became legal And they didn't need weed guys anymore They started selling jailbreak cards and sims

01:02:36 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

It's perfect You get like every single channel like USA, NBC, CBS. USA was your go-to.

01:02:45 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, good. Law and Order, SVU, anytime that you want to on the weekends. Watch the Bake Off.

01:02:51 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. MTV, every channel. It's awesome.

01:02:55 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 4:

This guy sounds like the commercials, you know? Yeah, you could do a commercial. You get USA, MTV, VH1, and ESPN. Is it legal to do that?

01:03:06 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 3:

Mike, it's called Jailbreak because it's not legal. Mike's the guy They're going to sell him A box of rocks in the parking lot And he's going to be like I just got the whole sound system For 50 bucks You'll never need table again

01:03:22 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 4:

Until your jailbreak doesn't work And then you're pissed Because your friends are all sitting on your couch Watching the Super Bowl They'll always choose the right time To actually make it not work And it's usually when you're having family or friends over To watch something Or your wife wants to watch the finale of Real Housewives or the Andy Cohen show afterwards.

01:03:41 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Tell the guy I'm not buying the Fire Stick unless you're going to sit and watch the game with me because then you know it will actually work.

01:03:47 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 4:

Rachel, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:03:50 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. So you can share your Xfinity password, but if you know a good friend that has YouTube TV, there's multiple users that can use that too. Oh, I have that.

01:04:02 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

I have it. You only have three users.

01:04:04 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 1:

I do too, and so I share it with my neighbor, and then she shares Hulu with us. I said I'd share anything with you

01:04:12 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

I told you that before

01:04:12 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 1:

Miss Shannon Murphy

01:04:14 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely will share with you No, my neighbor

01:04:17 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 4:

She thinks you're saying that's who she shares with

01:04:21 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm sorry, I'm talking to Megan She's getting confused with everybody

01:04:24 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Real quick question for you, Rachel On this whole sharing thing Does anybody know if Netflix Has started doing that whole thing

01:04:33 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 3:

They backed down They said they're not going to do anything in the time

01:04:36 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it went back and forth But for right now, no, I don't think that they want to try to have you log in every 30 days in the future, whatever.

01:04:48 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I'm going to say real quick, the last time that I tried to watch a Super Bowl, a.k.a. the Miss Universe pageant, I got kicked out. You know what? You want to tread lightly when you're giving your codes to everybody because then you're the one that ends up not being.

01:05:00 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 1:

able to log on like you said earlier mojo so did you just compare yes oh my gosh is it really that

01:05:11 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 6:

fun to watch because i feel like i mean i feel dirty when i watch the any kind of pageants there

01:05:16 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 1:

is a very large group of pageant peeps that live by that night do they're both sunday what okay

01:05:21 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 6:

what is the date of the miss universe it's not the same every year oh okay i thought maybe they They had their own date on this one. Is it on USA?

01:05:28 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 1:

It's a federal holiday. Yeah, it's on your calendar, actually, if you look at it. We have the day off for work.

01:05:33 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 6:

I can't believe, by the way, all these listeners are texting in, wanting to give you their passwords, Mike, because they love you so much.

01:05:38 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe that Mike and Megan waited until 48 hours before the game to figure out, how are we going to watch it?

01:05:44 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 1:

I really just thought I would pay for it, like up the butt, but paying for it. Yeah, I don't want to do that.

01:05:50 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 6:

can i uh can i tell you though the the most interesting part of this whole thing now is we've got listeners that are currently sharing on text message with us yes their passwords for their streaming services no yes they're so nice and thank you i've just canceled all my services if i use their passwords they can't like steal anything from me right like no no but uh i don't think so what do you mean because no it's just you logging in as them like could they can get account info right it's just me using actually somebody has the best proposition mike you come to my house and do that mix live i'll not only let you watch it you can stay the night at my house so you don't have to drive back home afterwards deal that's a cool one uh offer up services it's mojo in the morning we're going to do a phone scam uh spike needed to order some flowers for his valentine or his former valentine this is a classic mojo in the morning phone scam

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 2:

01:15:05 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 3:

This is Billboard, baby. I went to Billboard for this one. And Billboard and Wikipedia.

01:15:14 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 5:

01:17:21 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of people on it.

01:17:44 - 01:17:46 | Unknown:

Mario Winans and Puff Daddy. I don't want to know.

01:18:24 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:18:26 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Oh, no. You guys.

01:18:30 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Now we're back to Megan not paying attention.

01:18:32 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 4:

No, I've been taking notes, but I can't remember the combos. Isn't there a girl up? I thought there was a girl. I wrote down a girl's name. Oh, baby, I don't want to know. Okay. Megan.

01:19:22 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 3:

All right, nobody gets that one.

01:19:23 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 5:

01:21:50 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 1:

01:23:45 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 1:

I wish. Come on, Megan. You got this. They're clearly super helpful.

01:23:48 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 2:

01:25:17 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 2:

We need a song like I Touch Myself.

01:25:19 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

01:25:20 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 2:

That would be a way more fitting song.

01:25:22 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

It probably would, but I, for some reason, have this one handy right now.

01:25:26 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 2:

I can't do it. You get it?

01:25:27 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 1:

I just had to queue up 8,000 Rihanna songs just a couple of minutes ago, so I'm a little exhausted from that. But, Ashley, listen to what you got. You got a $50 Lover's Lane gift card. Congratulations.

We'll make the announcement now even before we end the last contest because we always have contests always like here on the show, which is unbelievable, including, by the way, the IVF Michigan.

All right, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30, Shannon? I'm sure Super Bowl is probably big, right?

01:28:29 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes, well, everybody's looking forward to, excuse me, Rihanna's Super Bowl halftime, so it's going to be her first time in seven years almost performing live on stage. And yesterday she did that big press conference, and she said, you know, the biggest challenge has been the set list. She actually said there were 39 different versions of the potential set list at this point.

01:28:50 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 4:

The set list was the biggest challenge. You only have 13 minutes. That's the challenge. So you're trying to cram 17 years of work into 13 minutes. So it's difficult. But, you know, some songs we have to lose because of that. And that's going to be okay. But I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.

01:29:10 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 2:

She also talked about how her Caribbean culture will have a huge part in her halftime performance representing her country, Barbados, of course. She said it will also be representative for black women everywhere and for moms as well.

01:29:24 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 4:

When you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the role. You can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. So as scary as that was, because I haven't been on stage in seven years, there's something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. And it's important for me to do this this year. It's important for representation.

01:29:46 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

is important for my son to see that beautiful she looked beautiful yesterday she's always

01:29:53 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

beautiful that girl could walk out and literally hold sweatpants and i would be like you a super model

01:30:00 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 2:

The family of Helena Hutchins, that cinematographer who was shot and killed on the set of the movie Rust, is now suing Alec Baldwin. This is new. Their lawyer, Gloria Allred, says that Alec never apologized to Helena's family, her parents and her sister in particular. Gloria said there has been no outreach to them by Mr. Baldwin to even say he was sorry. Now, her husband, son, and estate settled a separate complaint. So this new one, just so you're clear here, is being pursued by her mom, her sister, and her dad. Oh, that's interesting. And it's over negligence and the deprivation of benefits based on the emotional or financial support that Helena previously provided to her younger sister and her mom and dad. So this lawsuit not only names Alec Baldwin, it also names as defendants a long list, actually, of Rust crew members and ammunition supplier, producers of the film and affiliated businesses. And Gloria Allred essentially said that it's been tough for this family to cope with their loved one's death while living overseas in Ukraine.

01:31:05 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 4:

So, interesting, just to talk about the difference between the husband and then these guys. A lot of people thought that the husband was quick to settle, and many people said that he did this to further his career as a director-producer, because that's what he does for a living. So, the families must not be in agreement with each other. The mom and the sister must be like, wait a second, you're going to let this guy get away with it because you want your career to be furthered. that's not of any benefit to... Yeah, that's what it seems like to me. Wow, that's interesting.

01:31:36 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Jennifer Lopez now making fun of Ben Affleck after fans said her husband looked miserable at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Yesterday, she shared the newly released trailer for Air. It's a movie that Ben Affleck directed and stars in. And so she tweets the trailer along with, Air cannot wait, was her little caption. But as the clip begins, the words, My husband's happy face are scrawled across the screen And you see Ben With this bored blank expression on his face Very reminiscent of what we saw on Sunday night

01:32:10 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 3:

This might be a stretch I texted Mojo this the other day I think that this is a The whole thing was a move To just try to promote this movie Like they got attention at the thing I agree

01:32:20 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 2:

A lot of people are saying that Yeah

01:32:22 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you on that Especially I didn't know that he was the producer of this thing The director Or the director of this thing

01:32:28 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 3:

It looks good I mean it looks like a good movie But I think that's what all this is.

01:32:31 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What a great way to do it, too, to go viral the entire week before this thing's coming out.

01:32:38 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 2:

John Travolta honoring his late Grease co-star Olivia Newton's on by teaming up with Scrubs star Zach Braff and Donald Faison for a Grease-themed T-Mobile Super Bowl ad that you'll see this weekend. I can't believe it. It's just 50 bucks. Why pay more? Paying more sucks

01:33:01 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 4:

T-Mobile home internet Seems too good to be true But That's what T-Mobile can do Tell me more

01:33:21 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 2:

I know you said you didn't want a preview of any of the ads But I had to play that one for you Because everybody's talking about this

01:33:25 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the Stellantis ads are going to be good, too. They are going to focus on being electrified because they're now coming to the market with more electric vehicles. And Monday, we have a very special guest joining us. I cannot say who it is. You'll know when you watch the Super Bowl on Sunday and see the Jeep commercial. Ooh, I know that came out. I was a little choked up over that. The Jeep commercial, because that celebrity that's in it, that's going to surprise everybody, will be on with us Monday morning to recount doing the Super Bowl commercial.

01:33:59 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, people will try to make money off of anything. A fan is now auctioning off the sand from the beach where Tom Brady filmed his announcement that he's retiring from football.

01:34:12 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 1:

Basically, I was the first one to go to the spot that Tom Brady retired and pick up the sand and try to sell it. This is me with the bag of said sand. And this is Tom Brady in that exact same spot. I'm putting the sand in that bag. on ebay i'm starting it at a hundred dollars go to ebay go find the bag of sand that i'm holding up there'll be pictures attached and have at it have at it wait well uh do we know for a fact

01:34:37 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 2:

that it's that or do we she swears it is it's all showed where it was yeah there's a bunch of

01:34:42 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 3:

buildings in i think they're hotels in the background if i knew where it was we could just give away the sand on the air like how great would that be yeah i thought what rover did was

01:34:50 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

great our buddy rover in cleveland he actually was down there and he was vacationing so he went to the exact area and did the exact same speech as Tom Brady.

Prettiest, ugliest toes I've ever seen On the phone with us Is Caitlin And your last name, is it Eerie? Yes, Eerie Caitlin Eerie, everybody Where are you from, Caitlin Eerie? I'm from Monroe

01:38:12 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 2:

Not Eerie, Toey i gotta say your toe is cute it's not as bad i was afraid we were going to pick one of those ugly monkey toes people were sending in with the dirty toenails and everything else and i was

01:38:25 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 1:

disgusted by this whole contest caitlin's looked very trimmed and nice but also like you know

01:38:31 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 3:

it's a toe it's a toe so every toe is ugly actually there are some toes that are hot there were some toes that were sent in that i didn't think were people's toes i thought that They were Googled screen pictures. I could tell that yours was not.

01:38:46 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 1:

Caitlin, you were properly vetted. I made sure.

01:38:49 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

How did you vet? Did you ask her to have her toe in a picture with her face and today's date?

01:38:56 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 1:

I just zoomed in on a bunch of her profile pictures just to make sure it was her toe.

01:39:01 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 2:

You were being toe-stocked.

01:39:02 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, come on.

01:39:04 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you the grossest toes I see. They're the ones that people are wearing heels and their toes are curling over the front of the shoe, touching the ground. Your feet should not touch the ground when you're wailing heels.

01:39:14 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 3:

That, by the way, was my teacher, Mrs. Seitz, from grade school. So gross. St. Michael's grade school. She used to have...

01:39:21 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 2:

Little toes trying to escape.

01:39:22 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 3:

We always said that she had good grip in the snow if she wanted to. Oh, my God. Yeah, so... Oh, God. Yeah. Mike and Megan Do you guys have the picture of the toe in front of you? Did you look at what KP sent you?

01:39:39 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 5:

No Is it beautiful?

01:39:41 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 3:

It's tolicious

01:39:42 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 1:

There are so many people that are so happy We're going to be done posting toes You guys, I tagged EJ in a toe post yesterday He responded to me Get those toes off my timeline right now

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I hate toes more than anything did you

01:40:00 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

Do you know people that like to suck on toes? Because there are certain people that do that. And to me, it's, I don't know. I just don't get into it. Like, I don't want to stick a toe in my mouth. I don't want anyone sticking my toe in their mouth.

01:40:10 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 3:

Ew.

01:40:11 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:40:11 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 3:

You know, like that makes up a super subconscious.

01:40:15 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 1:

So you're a toe person, Megan, with sexually?

01:40:18 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 3:

No. God, no. I just, we don't shame in these parts. You know what I mean?

01:40:23 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever tried it, the giving or receiving side?

01:40:28 - 01:40:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:40:28 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Receiving, not giving Your toe is an erogenous zone, they say

01:40:34 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't believe that either

01:40:35 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 1:

There's 26 other erogenous zones you can try

01:40:38 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 3:

And every dude tries earlobes too And y'all need to stop that Y'all really need to stop that I like a little nibble on an earlobe Ew, that's literally the worst thing You've ever said on this show I don't mind that

01:40:51 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 1:

One time I actually was trying to do that with Chelsea And they'd kiss on her ear and lick it and stuff That she actually had to go to Walgreens and get one of those wax kits because I ended up causing for her to get...

01:41:02 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 3:

You're not supposed to be in the ear.

01:41:03 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, guys, don't jam your tongue in the ear.

01:41:06 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 3:

Like a little nibble in the ear.

01:41:07 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm not very good at balance. All right, Caitlin, congratulations to you. We've given you the prize. Enjoy it, please. Awesome, thank you. Enjoy it. Yes, thank you. All right, hang on the phone for a second. It's Mojo in the morning show. So Spike almost got into some fisticus at Kroger.

01:41:27 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 2:

At Kroger, I got yelled at after work yesterday when I went over there to grab a couple quick groceries. Another customer was yelling at me, and I wanted to grab LaCroix, and we haven't been able to find our stores the last couple, like two weeks.

01:41:40 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 3:

Are you still looking for that limoncello?

01:41:41 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so then I went over to the one across from work, and, oh my gosh, gold mine. I struck gold. They had a stack of them, and not only that, I got there when they were on sale for $3 for $10. So I loaded up my cart with all six cases they had of my flavor.

01:41:57 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 1:

How much LaCroix do you go with?

01:41:59 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Six cases? So if I'm not drinking coffee or beer, that's the only other thing I drink.

01:42:04 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 3:

And if you can't find it anywhere, when you find it, you stock up.

01:42:06 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Right. And Meg drinks it every day, too. How often do you guys drink it? How many a day do you drink it? One can. Just one can a day each. So it's two cans. So you go through a case in less than a week.

01:42:17 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 1:

Do you know that I had a doctor that told me that I was drinking too much of the Sparkling? It's carbonated water. Yeah, you can't go at that. Said it was not good for you.

01:42:26 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 2:

It's carbonated water. If they're going to tell me water is not good for you.

01:42:29 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 1:

No, because there is a certain level of sodium that you can get out of the carbonation.

01:42:34 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, guess what I would be drinking if I wasn't drinking LaCroix? I'd be drinking Red Bull or Coke or something even worse with 20 grams of sugar.

01:42:41 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 3:

My dentist literally said it's the same.

01:42:44 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, for dental health, I know it's not the best. But I will take cavity over all the other health issues you have. i don't need diabetes with all the sugar of pop but anyway so what happened the guy came up to you and was well as i was putting the last case in my hand in my in my cart i stood up and the guy next to me said rude dude you're taking all that and i said excuse me and he goes i was gonna buy some of that and i looked at him for i just kind of froze for seconds i thought oh my gosh this is a listener scan like messing with me you know yeah and uh so i'm looking at him and he's legitimately completely cranky and mad and he's like yeah i was gonna buy some of that and he just stood there looking at me and i'm waiting for him to crack a smile and he didn't i said okay and he was rude to me so i just decided to keep them all and not share my latroix so i turned my cart to go down the aisle and he muttered jerk and as as i'm walking away i'm like should i have shared that like dude if it was like um toilet paper or a necessity cold medicine something you need I'd be like, okay, here, dude, let's split it in half. Obviously, you need it. It's LaCroix. I beat you to it. I'm sorry. There's 20 other flavors of bubbly water.

01:44:01 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 3:

If he was nice to me, I probably would have shared it. Well, that's the thing. If he was nice, I would have been like, oh, here, dude. But since he was a jerk?

01:44:06 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

Also, I had six cases, and it was three for $10, so I didn't want to break up the three for $10. I get it.

01:44:13 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Yeah. So the guy, but what if that was the only drink that that guy was going to be able to drink?

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

It's the only drink I drink, and I've been looking for it for two weeks. You don't want to share?

01:44:25 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 3:

Dude, you're not sharing either. Come on.

01:44:27 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 1:

No. If he was nice, I would share. Everybody could be a person that's one of our ratings people. Yeah? I don't want to be. I'm not going to be mean to anybody.

01:44:36 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 2:

Someone with that demeanor, do you think he's going to be nice in the ratings, Dust? Because he sure wasn't nice to me. Because guess what I do?

01:44:42 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 1:

He could change his mind. No. Guess what I do? I say to him, yes, I would love to give you this. Now, please listen to Mojo in the Morning.

01:44:49 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Well from now on I will ask What radio station do you listen to And if they give the right answer What's the phrase that pays We got a big prize here Long live

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Big money, Spike.

01:45:02 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 4:

No, I do not reward people for walking through life being jackholes to strangers. If you're going to be a total a-hole and...

01:45:09 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 3:

You're taking your LaCroix and going out.

01:45:11 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm sorry. You acted like a dick punch. You could have said something nice like, hey, can I grab one of those? I would have been like, sure, dude. Here you go. Get hydrated.

01:45:19 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 2:

Spike, you're going to mess up your blood pressure acting crazy.

01:45:22 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he raised my blood pressure, so he gets nothing.

01:45:26 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 3:

It's funny.

01:45:26 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Like Willy Wonka. You get nothing.

01:45:30 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 3:

i thought gene wilder was in theater or in with us here can i say something with this la croix

01:45:36 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 4:

thing overrated i was so excited about two years ago you guys were all right i loved it i loved it

01:45:43 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 3:

and i had so much of it that now i got it coming out of my ears i'm done with la croix done so is that guy yes what kind are you drinking um right now honestly i'm just doing uh i'm just doing water and I'll, if I need a little flavoring, I squeeze in a lemon or squeeze an orange in it. No, I mean, what kind of LaCroix are you doing? Oh, I was doing well, I was doing the same, the limoncello that Spike got. The raspberry. Raz cranberry is hands down tangerine. Oh, I like just the berry. I like the tangerine was good. I did it all. I actually, that's what I lived on when I was during that 90 days of recovery from my heart surgery. And that was when my doctor told me that I can't keep just drinking that. I gotta drink regular water. But But I will say this. The one thing I give Spike credit on is Spike, he doesn't care how big you are, how small you are, whatever. You come up and try to take something that belongs to him, he will fight you off. Even if it's LaCroix.

01:46:44 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 4:

You mess with Spike, you mess with death.

01:46:47 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 3:

If he was a listener, he would have known that.

01:46:52 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 1:

You should have just said that. When you mess with Spike, you mess with death.

01:46:56 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:46:58 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 4:

Go enjoy your buble or whatever the other fake one is. It's not as good.

01:47:01 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 3:

Have any of the... By the way, there is one that's really good. I know.

01:47:05 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 4:

You're always got the next one.

01:47:06 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 3:

No, there's a Perrier one that's new.

01:47:08 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, the Pellegrino one at Costco is a good one. Pellegrino... Is it the flavored one? Yeah, it comes with the red... That's it. The pink... That's the one. ...and the dark purple.

01:47:15 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 3:

Yes. It's very good. That's a good one. Costco. Has anybody ever had this happen to them, like where they were fighting over an item and it wasn't like Black Friday? fighting over the last television that was on. Do you ever get this way in grocery stores? Or does anybody from Meijer or Kroger want to call us up and tell us if this has ever happened?

01:47:36 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 1:

I remember a couple of years ago, my mom got into it with somebody. If you've ever been to the outlets, like the Birch Run outlets is where this happened, and we were at the Pottery Barn outlet. And what happens there is you can, some of those items are so big so they'll stick your name on something, and then you can go shopping and then come back and, you know, and they'll load it into your car. Later you pay for it, they'll load it into your car. And my mom had her name on something, and somebody else came up and tried to rip. She watched them. I was there, too, trying to rip her name off of something. I thought they were going to rumble on the floor. They were both so fired up about this.

01:48:12 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember what the item was?

01:48:13 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 1:

I think it was like an oversized mirror, like to stand up in a bedroom, if I remember correctly. Oh, my God, they were heated about this stupid mirror at the Pottery Barn.

01:48:23 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 3:

If you could split the mirror in half, you get one half, you get the other half.

01:48:27 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

There were words exchanged very loudly.

01:48:29 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Those outlets, like Birch Run Outlet. West Brant. What's the one on the way to East Lansing?

01:48:35 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:48:36 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's the one I think you're – people that –

01:48:39 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 1:

Those Tanger Outlets.

01:48:40 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 3:

Tanger, that's what it is. People that go to those outlets with a mission to do one thing, fight people. They don't go there to get sale prices. They go there to fight people, and they bring on their craziness. What's up, Joel?

01:48:58 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey, you know, the problem with the situation is exactly what Spike is saying. I mean, Spike did come across as rude at first when he was explaining it. But the truth is, that guy was being a jerk. I mean, you can't give somebody something, you know, after they treat you like that. You know what I mean? You can't go out of your way for that. You just locked yourself out.

01:49:17 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 4:

You just told me. Listen, I will share. If it's necessity, I get it. families need stuff listen when the i was helping people strangers find the baby formula when they had a shortage this is not a necessity and i did not see you there standing there waiting to get

01:49:34 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

some so i was just shopping you know what i was doing is called shopping tell him that when the i was helping people get baby formula when they couldn't deserve an explanation i'm not i'm i've just wheeled away joel what spike didn't tell you what he didn't tell you is after this all got done and the guy was sitting there with a very sad look on his face. Spike ripped open the box, grabbed one out of his hand and drank it right in front.

01:50:00 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 1:

front of him eat this sucker the LaCroix I just want to know what is so exciting about LaCroix that a guy wants to cause a fight in an aisle but when you find the flavor that you've been looking for it is kind of like you struck gold all right I'll tell you what the only thing that I can see is Super Bowl Sunday if I call Buffalo Wild Wings and they told me they ran out of wings

01:50:22 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm fighting that I'm having issues you I feel like you should be on my wavelength with this because you get so obsessive about products when you find the latest orange that you just discovered or one of those carrot carrot oranges are the best. The double yolk eggs or whatever his fad of the month is. No, it was the watermelon Ciroc. Or the watermelon Ciroc. Yeah. For a while.

01:50:42 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 1:

But I wouldn't fight somebody over the last bottle. Clear every last store. Although right now mine is Eagle Rare Bourbon. That's the one that I'm having a hard time finding. Joel, thank you for the call. Have a great day, buddy. Have a good one. All right. Spike's not fighting either, to be fair. If that guy tried to do something, And Spike would go, I have a concussion.

01:50:58 - 01:50:59 | Unknown:

I have a concussion.

01:50:59 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 1:

Wait, yeah, you have a concussion. You're going to fight a guy with a concussion?

01:51:02 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 2:

I would swing one of those 12-packs right at his head, hit him in the head.

01:51:07 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 1:

Spike just went to the emergency room. Yeah. Literally at Henry Ford, because they told him he had a concussion. They told him, didn't they tell him?

01:51:13 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 4:

They said, rest your brain.

01:51:14 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:51:15 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 2:

So I'm not going to let this guy aggrave me.

01:51:19 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. It is a real-life War of the Roses to happen into a member of the Mojo in the Morning show. I mean, kind of. It's really, I guess it is a war for roses. So what's going on, Megan?

01:51:36 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so Ellen and I have been scheming, and we have come up with a brilliant plan because Ellen was talking to this guy for quite a while, a very, very long time. And I guess things recently have been a little bit more rocky isn't the right term, but just stagnant. Yes. Yes. In the way that like they are not together, but like they talk quite often. And I guess that communication was becoming a little bit more lax recently. So Ellen just celebrated her 30th birthday. Oh, happy birthday. And for her birthday, I sent her, like, a bouquet of flowers. I looked up friendship flowers, and they had a bouquet. I love that. I was trying to give her the full Kardashian experience, because you know how every time they have a birthday, like, their houses fill. But I am on a budget, so she got a few flowers. So she texted me last night, and she was like, Hey, thank you. These are really nice. Can I do something with them? And I said, of course. I mean, they're yours. What are you going to do? And she was like, well, I would normally give you credit and say thank you on social media. But instead, why don't we try to mess with this guy and see if he'll reach out to me if I just post them kind of anonymously or allude to the fact that she got them from another suitor. And I was like, oh, my God. Hell yeah, girl. Post them. Don't tag me. I can't wait to follow this through. And so she posted these flowers up on her Instagram stories. And it feels like our own version of War of the Roses. Like, we didn't send them to somebody specifically. But we're going to catch you, boy.

01:53:22 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

And we're going to catch you reaching out. So wait a second. Because I did see that on her Instagram on the story. Beautiful pink rose. And she had told me that you sent flowers to her. And they were in front of her door of her apartment while she was in Miami for, like, four days. So she was worried that they were going to, like, die.

01:53:39 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes. i was very terrified because i'm i am a uh dumbass and i forgot that she was going out of town for

01:53:46 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 1:

her birthday and so yeah i messed up so she is just doing she's just posted just the flowers and is hoping that this guy sees that and says uh-oh who's sending alan flowers right right yes does that work has anybody ever done that i mean valentine's day coming up i bet you that But there's, you know, we used to have people that used to send themselves flowers to their work on Valentine's Day because they didn't want the one girl in the office to get all the love on Valentine's Day. That's interesting.

01:54:17 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I think it's genius.

01:54:19 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 1:

It is.

01:54:19 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 4:

I wonder. Well, so what sort of response is she looking for? Him to just reach out and ask or him to send flowers?

01:54:26 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 3:

Not necessarily to send flowers, but more along the lines of if he does reach out. Yeah. Yeah, just have heard from him in a couple of days if she now posts flowers. Not even address that, but just reach back out to her and be like, hey, how you doing, girl?

01:54:44 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that could either be genius or sad because the guy doesn't care or whatever. But 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Has anybody ever done this? Tried to make a guy jealous by making him think that there's somebody else coming after you?

01:54:59 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 2:

And doesn't. at work that's you know what i used to always have the fake girlfriend in school so i would say that i had like this girlfriend or i i'm seeing this girl hoping that other girls would hear it and nobody ever did anything it all it did was confuse my buddies who i was hanging out with

01:55:15 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 4:

the night that i said i was going on a date i've seen girls dress up like use their friends to dress up as guys hide their faces to look like they're posing in a picture like a mirror selfie with a with a guy to make the other guy think that they're hanging out with another guy that's It's actually their friend.

01:55:31 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wait.

01:55:32 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 4:

Say that again. So you got a girl talking to a guy. Yeah. She gets her friend to dress up in like a sweatshirt, hat, maybe draw a little facial hair. The picture is like kind of dim, so you can't really see the face. And then they do like a mirror picture. They're standing on a stool to make them taller. It looks like, so they're taking a mirror picture of the guy. That is psycho behavior. It is. No, it's genius. It is genius, Megan. It's genius. What?

01:55:57 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 7:

I'm here for it because however I can get this information and use it, I will get the information and use it. I'll background check you. I will catfish you online. I will do whatever it takes to get the information that I need.

01:56:10 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 4:

This is real. I saw this girl on TikTok. She did this. She put her crush in a private story on Snapchat. He was the only one in the private story. She posted a really sexy picture of herself just to see if he would reply. There's no risk because it's just him And nobody else can see the picture on the story Because he's the only one in the chat And if he replies Then she knows that he's interested Genius Yeah but I don't understand the end game

01:56:38 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 1:

Of the mirror picture faking the guy

01:56:40 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 4:

Because you're trying to get the guy's attention But you don't want to make the first move

01:56:43 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 1:

But if I see that I go well she's already got a guy Now I'm not talking to you No because everybody wants what somebody else has

01:56:50 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 6:

Also have you met men? That's not how they behave That's not how they behave at all They go, oh, wait, some man has claim, must take other claim on women. I'm talking like this is okay to do. I didn't say it was okay.

01:57:04 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 1:

The whole beginning of your relationship has been built on the foundation of a lie from the start.

01:57:09 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 2:

Misfit Victor, what do you think?

01:57:12 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 3:

This is horrible. This is why so many women are single and then sit here and cry. Why am I single? Why don't guys like me? I don't understand this. What is the point of this?

01:57:23 - 01:57:28 | Speaker 2:

But you don't think guys play games with girls, too? Play games in the circus. You're going to attract the clowns.

01:57:28 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 3:

No, no guy's going to sit there and say, hey, Steve, guess what? I got a new hat. I'm going to post it online and see if my girlfriend or this girl I like is thinking. No, sorry.

01:57:39 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't buy it. You give us guys way too much credit.

01:57:43 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 3:

Also, I love how Victor's. You know what I'm going to think? I'm going to think, good. I don't have to buy her any flowers. Oh, come on.

01:57:49 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't buy it.

01:57:50 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 7:

I truly love that Victor was like, she posted a picture of flowers. But this is why she's single. Like, no.

01:57:56 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 4:

Victor, when you were dating your wife.

01:57:58 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 3:

All I heard for six, seven months is Ellen crying every day that she's single. You're crying every day. Stop playing games. Just be a normal person. That's why. They are normal people. I'm sorry. National rent and all this other stuff. No, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my whole entire life.

01:58:12 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 7:

You know what, Mojo? I've been saying for days that I'm ready to fight somebody. Victor, welcome to the ring. Oh, no. Dick, Dick, Dick. We don't know, Dick. No. Let's go, Dick. No, let's go. Because I love that he says that she's crying every day. When has Ellen ever once complained that she was single? We complain about men. No, we complain about men being literally the worst in all dating situations. We never once said, you know what my life is? Lacking a man. No, we say you men are idiots when we try to date you. There is a difference.

01:58:45 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 3:

We're idiots, but you're the one posting a picture of flowers? No, we're conniving.

01:58:51 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 4:

Men are idiots. Why does it take a picture for you guys to make the first move? Why do we have to do that?

01:58:57 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. Hold on. Comments from listeners here. Sarah, what did you want to say?

01:59:01 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 5:

I'm so sorry, but that's crazy girl behavior. Thank you, Sarah. Yes, it is.

01:59:05 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. She's admitting it. Period.

01:59:07 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 1:

Period. You're attracting a guy who has no respect for relationships because he's going to jump in line here. So then you're going to be dating a guy who has no respect for relationships.

01:59:21 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 2:

Katie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:59:23 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, this totally works. So, when I was single, I would, like, get all dialed up. I would, like, post a picture to try to make the guy jealous that, like, I wanted to get the attention from. Yeah. Fast forward, it worked. We've been married for 10 years. No, thirst trap we get.

01:59:42 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

Thirst trap we get, but I don't understand the faking that you already have a guy.

01:59:46 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Rose did that. What did you do, Rose?

01:59:49 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I had a guy best friend, so I would just hold his hands in my Snapchats and stuff, so I didn't have to fake a girlfriend being a guy.

01:59:57 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Did it work? Oh, yeah, it worked. It made good.

02:00:00 - 02:00:01 | Speaker 1:

Guys, right away, come to your attention.

02:00:02 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

02:00:03 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I think this is a great idea. By the way, you can either do that with a guy or find a girl that's got, like, really rough hands and try it and see if it works.

02:00:12 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

You guys have a great day.

02:00:14 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 1:

I called and wished Ellen a happy birthday, and she told me that she's marrying the first guy that proposes to her this year. This year and this year only. So, you hear that, guys?

02:00:25 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 4:

I also think she found me a guy, too, so I'm here for it. Wait a second, tell us about him. Apparently he works in IT and we are the same exact human being, which either will be my best friend in the entire world or one of us will murder each other. Apparently we're the same. But I love that even long distance, Ellen's still looking out for a girl.

02:00:48 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 1:

See, that's the problem with Ellen is Ellen thinks of other girls to set up instead of, you know, worried about herself.

02:00:54 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Because none of us care.

02:00:56 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

But why does she not want to date you?

02:00:58 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 4:

I ask myself that every day. I love her.

02:01:02 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine, though, if Ellen's, like, dating a guy and goes, oh, my God, I'm dating Megan.

02:01:07 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 2:

Be part of the show. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

02:01:11 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. Quit playing games with my heart.

02:01:19 - 02:01:21 | Unknown:

With my heart.

02:01:21 - 02:02:29 | Speaker 1:

Just like War of the Roses, we could do, like, 12 segments on the real War of the Roses that's going on. Megan just told us a couple of minutes ago that Megan and our former producer, Ellen, are doing a little game that they're playing. Megan sent her flowers. And Megan said that Ellen's post that's on her social media, on her story of just the flowers, is her way to be able to play a little game against the guy that she had been kind of seeing to make him think that somebody sent her flowers. A guy sent her flowers. And boy, people are fired up. And I'm going to say this to you, Megan, it's like 50-50. I'm looking at people. People are saying that this is something that is, people are saying it crazy, both male and female saying that. It's crazy that you do these games. It doesn't work. And then there are people that say, yes, it does work, and it's actually something good to do. Beth, let me grab some calls here and see what you got for us. I just wanted to also play quick playing games with my heart because I thought that was good. Beth, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:02:30 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How is everyone this morning?

02:02:32 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, fantastic. We're doing an impromptu wore the roses here.

02:02:37 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, when I was first dating my now husband, he was lagging in the flower department. I kept mentioning it, dropping it. So one time I bought myself flowers, posted a picture of it, and the caption was, sometimes you just have to buy yourself the flowers. He was able to say, I got flowers the next week. Oh, look at that.

02:03:00 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 1:

So that was basically cattle prodding him right there into doing it. Nothing subtle about that. Jordan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. You say that this could backfire against Ellen.

02:03:12 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm kind of in agreement with what Spike said, but I'm going to try to say nice because I'm a little afraid Megan will No, I saved that for Victor

02:03:24 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 1:

Let me get the Eye of the Tiger music Ready to go, Jamie I'll be nice, I promise Go ahead

02:03:30 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 2:

No, but if she's interested in this guy And he sees flowers And that doesn't If he's Saying, oh, there's another guy I can totally feed this guy And win her Do you really want someone that doesn't really care about anybody else. I'm going to have what I want, and I don't really care who else is going after her. I'm doing that. Megan doesn't care?

02:04:03 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. That's not true. I think we got distracted by the whole Victor thing. I think you're right. I don't know if she necessarily wants to date this guy. I didn't say this was perfect dating material guy, but I also think it will give us the answers that we're looking for are the answers oh he'll only reach out when he feels jealous of somebody or is he just really busy right now it's like what they don't live near each other this is kind of like a long distance friendship so i think that plays a lot into it too it was just more would it be a red flag if he reached out out of jealousy not necessarily we're gonna hook this man line and sinker so if

02:04:40 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 1:

he did reach out to her and show her attention that would be a bad that would actually be a a negative probably really but if he doesn't but if he doesn't reach out then it's also a negative it's a double negative i'm not learning i never understood double negatives when i was in school but now i understand what double negatives are

02:05:00 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 3:

It all depends on how you take it, but you are kind of right. It's like that's why everybody's 50-50 because it's like you could take it one way. It could be a genuine guy and leaves her alone, and that's the one side or the other side. I don't really care what anybody says. It's like, I'm going to win her.

02:05:23 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:05:24 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 4:

I think everybody knows within like the first 15 minutes of meeting somebody, whether you're going to date or whether you want to date this person or not. I agree with that. No. And if you don't and you got to chase them, then you're going to be chasing somebody who does likes to play games.

02:05:37 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 5:

Actually, Mike's right. In Mike, there was a study that I was going to do in Trending News the other day. I just saved it for a topic. But it says it says that a person knows within the first five minutes of meeting someone whether or not that relationship is going to be the relationship. Now, you just don't know if that other person feels the same way, but you kind of know right away.

02:05:58 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 2:

I would also like to point out the fact that a man called in to disagree with me and at the end said, I was kind of right. So a win is a win.

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 5:

Ashley, what's going on?

02:06:10 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 8:

Hey, yeah, I just wanted to comment on the Moses thing because I did that before. And did it work for you? Well, yeah, yeah, it did. So, like, I was kind of talking to this guy. I mean, we were kind of, like, you know, friends with benefits. And I was like, well, let me see if he was, like, really interested. At the time, I was a teacher, and one of the parents gave me some flowers, some roses for Teacher Appreciation Day. So I was like, let me post this and see how he responds. So I did that, and he texted me. He was like, oh, who are those flowers from? And I was like, oh, it's anonymous. I thought they were from you. And then he was like, oh, normally I take credit for it But I can't do that this time And I was like, oh, I wonder, you know Who's interested in me then And then, like, he, like, stepped up his game In, like, the communication department And, you know, we started dating And everything, we dated actually for probably Like three years But, yeah, yeah, I mean It kind of, like, let me see Exactly where he was at Because I thought he had feelings I mean, I had feelings, but I just wasn't sure

02:07:15 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 5:

Can I just throw this out there? Do you not find it weird that a parent is sending you romantic flowers? Just asking.

02:07:27 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 8:

I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was a little weird. It was some another mom, though. Oh, okay.

02:07:34 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 5:

That's fine, then. That's all right. All right. Vicki, what's going on? Hey. How are you guys?

02:07:41 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 6:

We're doing great. This is the part where you tell us.

02:07:44 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 9:

I just don't see the harm in it. She got followers from somebody and posted a picture of them. Does she have to tag me what was fun? Does she have to say why she got them? No, she just got followers and posted a picture. And that is true.

02:07:59 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 6:

She just runs the risk of the opposite happening where you scare someone away thinking, oh, there's already – like I wouldn't pursue someone that I thought already had a guy in their life, so I just wouldn't answer.

02:08:08 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 5:

Can I be honest, though? As a guy, wouldn't she just say – I bet that she got them for her birthday from her mom or dad or brothers or sisters?

02:08:15 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 9:

she's not saying she got them from another guy or a guy or a friend or anybody she's just like hey I got the flowers I'm still invested

02:08:24 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

to know whether or not this guy's going to reach out at this point so we need an update

02:08:29 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 9:

that's why I listen and if I don't listen live in the morning I catch the app in the afternoon thank you we love people like you

02:08:38 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 5:

hold on a second real quick keep going and tell us more so that the listeners know this is better than playing deep voice guy saying that

02:08:45 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 9:

No, I've been listening since you guys have been on the air. And if I don't catch it live or I don't catch it on the app in the morning, if I'm on my car, I play the app in the afternoon. Perfect. Absolutely have to.

02:08:58 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 5:

I don't even need the talkback app to do that for us. She's great. This is really good.

02:09:03 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 6:

Listen, if you just woke up, you can already go back and listen to who won the throwback throwdown.

02:09:08 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 9:

Yes. Yes, Shannon did.

02:09:11 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 6:

Well, don't spoil it for us. We're trying to get them to listen.

02:09:13 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 5:

You'll never know. You'll have to listen. Now you've crossed the line. Thank you so much. We appreciate you so much for listening. Honestly, we do not take any listener for granted. We appreciate all of you so much. And we're going to send you all flowers. You're all getting flowers. Courtesy of Megan.

02:09:33 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 9:

I'll just take my gift card. I'm not really a flowers person.

02:09:36 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:09:37 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to six pack of LaCroix.

02:09:40 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning. Find us on Instagram. It's Mojo in the Mourn.

02:09:46 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:09:49 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 5:

All right, it's Janin', the last Dirty of the week. Make it good.

02:09:52 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Almost call me a different name.

02:09:53 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 5:

I said Chanin'.

02:09:54 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 2:

Janet.

02:09:55 - 02:09:56 | Speaker 5:

I'm like having, I'm having him.

02:09:56 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

When I go to Starbucks and I say my name's Shannon, but they write Janet on the phone.

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 2:

I've got like tired brain today And we went out for dinner last night with friends And I was in bed basically at the normal time Like we went out early So I don't know

02:10:11 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 4:

I was over served last night

02:10:13 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh were you really?

02:10:13 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 4:

I cannot wait to go back to bed Okay so let's start off with Britney Spears This is a big story this morning So her husband Sam Her manager And then a handful of medical professionals Reportedly were planning an intervention intervention to get her some help after all sorts of concerning behavior that she was exhibiting and kind of left them worried for her safety. So she's been struggling with some mental health issues as well as some substance abuse issues from what I'm hearing. And we're seeing the fallout from this both publicly but also friends and family are saying behind closed doors she's been really worrisome. So this alleged intervention was meant to take place this past Tuesday. It was canceled because Brittany caught on as to what was happening. So the plan was that Brittany's manager had rented this home in L.A. They were going to bring her there because she wouldn't have been suspicious about it. Sam, her husband, planned to take Brittany to the home for the visit where doctors would be present. And the discussion would center around getting some targeted help for her over the next couple of months. she would stay in this home for two months during which time she would receive medical treatment and psychological counseling but this fell apart she found out about it she did I'm hearing meet with some sort of doctor on Wednesday and that meeting went well but the thing is Brittany hopped on her own Instagram to really deny this whole story deny this this intervention that was planned behind her back she wrote this long caption and part of it said I mean at some point enough is enough i'm probably gonna have to stop posting on instagram because even though i enjoy doing it there's obviously a lot of people who don't wish me well as my hubby says it best don't believe

02:11:59 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 2:

everything you read i'm gonna say this and i get complaints all the time from listeners when i say this i do worry about her i do too i mean her actions that she does on social media or some

02:12:08 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 4:

of the videos that you've seen of her or just the posting of the same picture again and again and again i i think there are some things that are causing people to to say okay she might she might

02:12:17 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 2:

need a little help. Yeah. I think we all need help, but I do, you know, her life has not been easy and everything that she's gone through.

02:12:23 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think a lot of people want her to get help and don't want her family to get charged again. You know what I'm saying?

02:12:29 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 2:

So, meaning if she goes and gets help.

02:12:32 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, you want the right people to be put in place so that she can get the appropriate kind of real help. Yeah. Yeah. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes winning his second MVP award last night at the annual NFL Honors. He's also, and he made mention of this, he's very aware that he's trying to do something that hasn't been done since 1999 when Kurt Warner with the 1999 St. Louis Rams, he was the last player to win a regular season MVP title and also a Super Bowl. And adding to the specialness of this Sunday's game, it is the first time that two black quarterbacks are going up against one another. Here's Patrick Mahomes commenting on that.

02:13:11 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 1:

To be on the world stage and have two black quarterbacks starting in the Super Bowl, I think it's special.

02:13:17 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 4:

And Jalen Hurts also talking about the same thing.

02:13:19 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 1:

The next generation of quarterbacks, that 4-year-old, 5-year-old kid, regardless of what someone may say or have an opinion about you, you can do it. You can do it, too.

02:13:30 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be exciting. It'll be a fun Super Bowl to watch, these guys. Hopefully everybody stays healthy throughout the whole game. That's the only thing that can screw this whole thing up is if a Mahomes or a Hurts gets hurt in the beginning of a game and then it causes for them to have to bring in their backups because their backup's kind of both below. Oh, really? Yeah.

02:13:52 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 4:

She is so hot right now, Jennifer Coolidge. And if you remember, she starred as like a hair and makeup and nail tech in the Legally Blonde movie, the first Legally Blonde movie, Paulette Bonafonte. Well, she was talking to Vogue about her new Super Bowl commercial. Speaking of, she's doing one for Elf Cosmetics. And in doing so, she also shared that her career almost took a very different path. She said she wanted to be a makeup artist, just like her legally blonde character was long before she wanted to be an actress. But she said she wasn't good at it. She was mediocre at best, is what she said. But get this, she was actually taking mortuary makeup classes. Oh my gosh. So she would have done the makeup for the viewings and funerals and stuff.

02:14:36 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

yeah so you remember how we were talking about how she wanted to play a dolphin yes okay so i'm just on a tick tock to the group chat maybe we can post it up on social she finally got to play the role of a dolphin and sing the uh white lotus theme song it's so incredibly funny i believe it's an improv group that put her up on stage in a terrible dolphin costume and she got to sing

02:15:00 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 1:

And it's, I peed my pants. It's so good. All right.

02:15:03 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj have been ranked by Billboard as the best male and female rappers of all time. The publication released its top 50 greatest rappers of all time in honor of hip-hop's 50th anniversary. And when it came to naming the GOAT rapper, Jay-Z landed himself at the top of their list. Meanwhile, Nicki came in at number 10, officially making her the only female in the top 10, and therefore the greatest female rapper of all time. Tupac, Eminem, Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, and Nas also made it into that top 10. What does Cardi B think of that? I don't know where she is on here. I'd have to look. But she's probably on there. Just didn't make the top 10. And Nicki beat her out, yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty Fades on NudgeInTheMorning.com. Get the stories you'll talk about all day

02:16:03 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 3:

on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another phone scan in minutes.

02:16:10 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we're going to play a little game here. Spike's got a good one. You know, we've done games before, like Firework or what was the Fireworker? STD or something like that, wasn't it?

02:16:22 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 2:

I work for porn.

02:16:23 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, or porn movie or something like that. Now we got one that's in regards to the Super Bowl. Maybe some listeners would want to play. We really don't have any prizes, though. Would you play for a non-prize? Would you play just for the opportunity just to say, I played on the Mojo on the Morning Show? Because to be perfectly honest with you, we're kind of low budget. I mean, it may seem like we give away a lot of great prizes. I got this apple.

02:16:47 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 3:

You want an apple?

02:16:47 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 1:

We have to beg. How about this? Cans of LaCroix. No, no, no.

02:16:51 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm giving those away.

02:16:51 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 1:

Come on. What do you got?

02:16:55 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 3:

Some restaurant gift cards. Look at Lydia throwing out the prizes on a Friday.

02:16:59 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, if we give them away for this and we don't have them for five lies to tell your mom, I'm going to be upset. So we got enough of those? You have a bucket of five wise gifts to give away. All right. Okay, then we got it. So restaurant gift cards, okay? Here we go. What is the contest called here right now?

02:17:13 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

The contest is called Super Bowl athlete or allergy medication. I'm going to give you a name. You tell me, when I give you the name, you tell me, is it a world champion NFL player or is it an allergy medication?

02:17:27 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hold on. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. How about we play and then we'll let a couple of listeners as they're grabbing the credits.

02:17:34 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 3:

All right, but I do not have 50 names. I just want to warn you.

02:17:37 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 1:

How many do you have? I'll let maybe a couple of listeners. I have seven or eight. All right. Start off with us and then we'll go to us.

02:17:42 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 3:

I also have, if you want to move on, I have Super Bowl athlete or Harry Potter villain, too. I like allergy men.

02:17:47 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 1:

02:18:22 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 3:

Are you a football fan?

02:18:25 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

Sharice, are you a football fan, or are you an allergy medication fan? Which one are you?

02:18:31 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

Definitely allergy medication.

02:18:33 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:18:34 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 3:

Let's start off and see how you do here. I'm going to give you the name. You tell me. Allegretti. Allegretti. Allegretti. Is that Super Bowl athlete or allergy medication? Wow.

02:18:44 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 1:

Allegretti.

02:18:45 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 2:

Super Bowl athlete. That'd be my guess, too. Really? That's a good guess.

02:18:48 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 1:

That's a long name to put on the back of a jersey. Allegretti. So you say Super Bowl athlete? All right. Go Super Bowl athlete. Go ahead. What is it?

02:18:57 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm referring to Nick Allegretti from the Chiefs. Congratulations. Wow.

02:19:01 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 2:

Nice job, Cherise.

02:19:02 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 1:

Very nice. Hey, congrats. We're going to set you up with a gift card to one of our fine dining establishments. Which dining establishment? Do we have names of them that we have to plug? We'll just figure it out. Hold on one second. We'll get you set up. Next up here is Leon. Welcome, Leon. Happy Super Bowl weekend.

02:19:21 - 02:19:22 | Unknown:

Thank you. You too.

02:19:23 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 1:

It's nice to have you on here. Spike, go ahead.

02:19:25 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 3:

All right. The last one was an athlete. Is this a Super Bowl athlete or allergy medication if I'm telling you Karlaftis? Karloftis. That's a Super Bowl athlete.

02:19:38 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 1:

No. There's no way. That Karlaftis. First off, when you said it the first time, I thought, okay, that's a Super Bowl athlete.

02:19:43 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 3:

Karloftis.

02:19:44 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 1:

Then when you said it the second time, I think I've heard of that as an allergy medication.

02:19:48 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 3:

I hate allergy medication. Are you sure you want to go, Leon? Are you sticking with it? Yeah, he's a defensive end for the Chiefs.

02:19:53 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 1:

There you go. George, Carl Austin.

02:19:56 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 2:

You know your stuff.

02:19:58 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Yep

02:20:36 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh Gosh, I'm going to guess An allergy medication

02:20:43 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to say it's an allergy medication too Because I feel like Siamalo Is one of those ones that has like The 30 second disclaimer That gives you anal leakage Or something like that

02:20:55 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 5:

Stop it, you're bleeding from the ears

02:20:57 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

What is that product that we run here on the air that literally says that it does that? It will make you actually leak out of your buttocks. All right.

02:21:07 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 5:

Mary says it is an allergy medication. C. Amalo plays for the Eagles. Isaac C. Amalo.

02:21:17 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, Mary. Are any of these allergy medications?

02:21:22 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was trying to throw her off and do three in a row. Okay.

02:21:25 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 4:

It worked. Jeff's next up here. Jeff's next up, because we do have one more card left, because Mary just lost. Go ahead.

02:21:32 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 5:

Olopatidine. Olopatidine. He's the kicker. Don't lead the witness. Jeff, this is for you. Is olopatidine a Super Bowl athlete? You're saying it two different ways. You're pronouncing it two different ways. Olopatidine.

02:21:49 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 4:

Jeff.

02:21:50 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 5:

It's got to be medicine.

02:21:52 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 4:

You're thinking that that's got to be an allergy medication.

02:21:54 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 5:

It's got to be.

02:21:56 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 4:

Brought to you by, this hour, by the way, is brought to you by Pfizer.

02:22:01 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 5:

Olopatidine, Mojo.

02:22:03 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to say it's definitely, because you haven't done one yet. So I'm going to say it's got to be a medication. It's an antihistamine. Congratulations. Congratulations to you. Jeff, most importantly, who do you have winning the Super Bowl this year?

02:22:22 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 5:

I got to go with the Chiefs.

02:22:24 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 4:

Okay, now you're going to lose your prize.

02:22:26 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

Hang up on him. No, no, no, no.

02:22:29 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Spike's a big Eagles fan. Grew up in Philadelphia. You do not want to mess with Spike because if you mess with Spike.

02:22:36 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 2:

I hope it's high scoring.

02:22:38 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I do too. I want to see no defense, even though the Eagles have the best defense.

02:22:42 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the Eagles have the best defensive line.

02:22:43 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're so good.

02:22:44 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 5:

I just want to see them run the score. I'll be the highest scoring game. I just want to see both teams have fun.

02:22:51 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 4:

All right, hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll set you up, okay?

02:22:55 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 2:

Cool, thanks.

02:22:55 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:23:01 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 2:

Wow, we're complete morons.

02:23:03 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:23:06 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Hey, honey, it's almost Valentine's Day. Where's your device? No, not that device. Tell your smart device to wake up to Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Ooh, yeah.

02:23:19 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 4:

This hour of Mojo in the Morning is powered by YaldoiCenter.com. I just had a crazy commercial break here in Detroit all because somebody has, and it might be me, who knows, sticky fingers. The controls were stuck down.

02:23:36 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 3:

Did they clean this thing ever, this control board? I don't think so.

02:23:40 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 4:

This one, literally, I'm not kidding you. You know the gunk that your kids have on their toys or their games and stuff like that, where they've been playing and eating and doing stuff? That's what this thing has right now. So, A-serve number one. Mark, please take a look at that when we're off. Time now for a phone scam, one of my favorites, Valentine's phone scam, when Spike called up the flower shop to see if he could get hate flowers.

02:24:09 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 2:

You're home with the phone scams. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:24:14 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 5:

Good afternoon. How can I help you? Yeah, how you doing? Good. Good. You open for business? Of course we are. Because I need some business taken care of. All right, I can do that. All right. You got any specials on roses?

02:24:28 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 1:

We always have a special on roses. We have the most fabulous roses in town. Are you picking them up or having them delivered?

02:24:34 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, I need them delivered. I don't want to see the lady no more.

02:24:36 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, then what are you sending her flowers for?

02:24:38 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 5:

Well, here's the thing. I want you to put on the card, I hope you f***ing die, you cheating b***h.

02:24:45 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I'm going to put that on anybody's card. We don't swear on cards.

02:24:48 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 5:

You're going to turn down my business?

02:24:50 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 1:

I won't turn down your business, but I'm not going to swear on a card.

02:24:53 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay, I see.

02:24:54 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

We have a lot of Christians working in here.

02:24:56 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I apologized in there.

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's not good.

02:24:59 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

All right, how about just...

02:25:00 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 4:

I hope you die, die, die.

02:25:01 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 3:

No, I can't say that either. No?

02:25:03 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

I can't wish any, no. Well, I'm not swearing to nobody.

02:25:05 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

No, I know, but that's next to a death threat.

02:25:08 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 4:

You know, she's a lousy no-good broad. She's been up to no good.

02:25:12 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, then probably just send her flowers and just say good luck with your new boyfriend.

02:25:18 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 4:

What if we did something that wasn't so nasty? Maybe, like, your feet stink.

02:25:22 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 3:

I'll do your feet stink.

02:25:24 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And how about, like, your feet stink, I don't want to see you no more, and I hope you trip down some stairs.

02:25:30 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not going to do anything threatening.

02:25:31 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 4:

Do you have, like, some black, like, dead flowers you can send her?

02:25:35 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 3:

No. All my stuff is fresh and beautiful. Really? Yeah.

02:25:38 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 4:

What if you were to put it in the oven or something, make it all crusty and moldy?

02:25:42 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, I could do that, but you're going to pay for fresh.

02:25:44 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'll pay.

02:25:45 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:25:46 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 4:

I'll pay, because this lady, she needs to be taught a lesson.

02:25:48 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 3:

So one dozen dead roses.

02:25:50 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 4:

Dead is a doornail.

02:25:52 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 3:

Microwaved.

02:25:53 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 4:

And make sure you underline s***, too.

02:25:55 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to say swear. Okay.

02:25:58 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 4:

Or maybe just all in capitals, you could just say, you know, your feet stink, nobody likes you.

02:26:03 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm just putting your feet stink. I don't want to see you anymore.

02:26:06 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 4:

What else could I put that would be real meaning?

02:26:07 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 3:

Then just sign your name. That's all you can do. It'll be, what can I say?

02:26:11 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 4:

Needs something, a little, needs a little pepper on the pitosh. Well, I can't.

02:26:14 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 3:

You'll have to call her and tell her that yourself. I can't get in the middle of your domestic here.

02:26:18 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy, I'm at the end of my rope here.

02:26:22 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't even want to. This is a happy holiday.

02:26:24 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 4:

Not for me, it's not.

02:26:25 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm sorry. You just got to find yourself a new girl. Things will probably be better for you.

02:26:29 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I hope so.

02:26:30 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes blessings come in disguise.

02:26:32 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 4:

How about you? Are you married?

02:26:34 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Are you? Yeah, you just got to get yourself to church or synagogue and find a nice girl that is faithful.

02:26:41 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey, put this on your card. You've just been the victim of a phone scam and you're on the radio.

02:26:45 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you see? Now you think you want to swear. Now you want to spend some money here or what? Now you better spend some money here. I'll charge for airtime.

02:26:55 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 4:

Hey, think of it as free advertising.

02:26:59 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 1:

Everybody at your work wants to say Happy Valentine's Day, and they wanted to do it with a phone scam.

02:27:07 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 3:

Bobby, the guy who wanted to swear, I wouldn't let him swear at the phone scam, and you really had me.

02:27:15 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 4:

You have a happy f***ing Valentine's Day.

02:27:20 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Hello? You're home with the phone scams.

02:27:27 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hi there, sir. This is Philip Rippin' Clipper. It's Nick's shoemate from the bleep apartment complex. Jeffrey Anthony from Greg Murray Appraising. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:27:55 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 1:

Mudge in the morning. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Anybody out this weekend? Anybody doing anything fun this weekend that they would like to talk about? Or is it just all Super Bowl related and stuff?

02:28:07 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm excited for a date night with my wife.

02:28:09 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right. And Mike's got two things. He's got a date night with his wife. And then she's going away with girls. So you get to have a video game night with your kids. Or not with your kids. Video game night without the kids. Because you're just going to make them go to bed, or what are you going to do? Put a movie on?

02:28:28 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, no, no, no. So they'll play. They do play Minecraft, but they go to bed at, like, 8-ish. So about 8 o'clock, we'll put them down. I'll read them a book and put them to sleep. And then, yeah, I'm gaming for, like, hours and hours and hours.

02:28:41 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 1:

If Ashley's, or Ashley, Allie's there. Ashley, you're not cheating on Allie with Ashley, right? I was going to make sure of that. Okay. Allie, if Allie is there with you and you put the kids to bed at 8 o'clock, do you think to yourself god I want to go play video games but I'm hoping that Allie goes to bed early too

02:29:01 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 2:

well so we got this weird thing I don't know if a lot of other people do this but like she likes to read a book on her phone and I play video games so sometimes we don't even talk to each other but we sit in the same room and I'll play for a couple hours and she'll do that and sometimes we just watch movies like it works sometimes but it works

02:29:18 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 1:

and it never comes back to bite you in the ass though like where she says you were playing video

02:29:23 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

games all the time so it used to when we first started dating because she wasn't uh into reading books and we didn't have kids we were like she wasn't like we were we would i would stay up to like four or five o'clock in the morning like playing video games on the weekend sometimes and that got to be excessive so i've toned it down a ton since then yeah i i would i remember

02:29:42 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

mike i i used to play video games all the time like literally all the time and i remember i I played so much that it got to a point where I was so manically crazy about wanting to play that I would do anything I could to keep Chelsea from having anything that would be caffeinated to make her go to better.

02:30:00 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 3:

early like honestly i know i can't imagine you being a gamer oh my god i was all i played madden so much like i i i used to finish the first season of madden like within like a full you know night you know or or a little more than a night because it would take me a little bit but i would play like a whole season and this was actually back before you can even go online and play other people if i had the capabilities to go online and just play everybody i'd never see my family And actually, I'd probably never show up for work because I would be so into it. It was so much fun. Yeah.

02:30:34 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Come over and play if you want.

02:30:36 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 3:

But I gave it up when Luke was born. I made Chelsea the promise that she was not going to be a single parent on Luke, kind of like she was with Joe and Jake.

02:30:45 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 2:

Got all the way to that third one.

02:30:46 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So it got all the way to that, and then it just turned. I don't know. It's one of those things where, Mike, I'm going to say this to you. It's so much fun to play And you anticipate like the opportunity to play it And it's like a Friday morning show like this You're probably thinking about 8 o'clock on what is it Saturday night when Allie goes out with her friends Yeah yeah Saturday night at 8 o'clock Don't call Mike See that's why you wanted to say it out loud Now everybody's going to call He's going to be playing What's up Liz

02:31:17 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 1:

Hi good morning

02:31:20 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

Morning what's going on

02:31:21 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 1:

So I was going to tell Mike that i'm actually the gamer and i'm the girlfriend so it's a little more like unique situation because i like playing you know guy video games like shooters and things like that and the best time to play of course is at night so i want to play video games and my boyfriend's the one who wants to read or watch netflix and he's like why don't you just come oh where were you when mike

02:31:48 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 3:

and i were searching for wives you weren't around we never saw you we're probably playing video games is that wild or what is there a way that we can actually uh put uh you know i don't know like

02:32:03 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 2:

maybe have well i'll take allie out and because meg is a huge gamer she's always in that case too so mike and mike and meg can game and i'll take allie out can i take meg out yeah sure

02:32:15 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 3:

this is uh wild that's like the that's like the buddies of mine i have friends of mine who call me up listen to this one they call me up and they'll talk to me and i'll say how's everything going over this ship oh it's all right what do you all she wants to do is have sex i'm like come on you're bragging humble brag yeah and then and they're like no they're serious about this spike this is no joke like it's too too much they feel like all they want to do is have sex that they're their uh one buddy wife he said that it's crazy all she wants to do stop do is and he's like i'm exhausted he he's a a blue collar guy who works construction he's like i work all day all i want to do is come home and sit down and relax next thing i know i don't want to do any more physical activity and i'm like you dumb son of a bitch what are you talking about like i don't get it it's not my world i don't understand that i mean i guess it would be like and i and he equates it this he goes what would you do because chelsea's a real super clean freak and to chelsea it's like all she wants to do is pick up the house so all she wants to do is not the same and have me help that he says that's the the equivalent for them at all because like that doesn't make me want to

02:33:26 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 2:

clean up like meg wants a lot of sex but it takes her three seconds to get me into sex like whether i'm in the mood or not no matter how tired i am guess what it only takes five seconds to change my mind yeah i don't it's not like cleaning the house because no matter what she does i'm not and I want to clean the house with her. So you get a lot of it, huh?

02:33:42 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

02:33:43 - 02:33:43 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:33:43 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 3:

Lucky bastard there.

02:33:44 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 2:

Dude, last night I was like, my head was spinning from my concussion. I was so tired and ready, and then she changed my mind in a few seconds.

02:33:50 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. I thought you weren't supposed to get physically active.

02:33:53 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they said rest my brain. I wasn't using my brain.

02:33:56 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 3:

Wait, and I thought that Meg was also an advocate of you not. She was. She's willing to, she's trying to kill you, isn't she? No.

02:34:05 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 2:

I laid there and let her do all the work. I wasn't exerting a lot of physical activity.

02:34:11 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Mike, you hear this? Forget video games. I know, right?

02:34:16 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to need concussion sex. Concussion sex. That's why I'm not going to complain if she wants to go play video games. That's fine with me.

02:34:25 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 3:

This is craziness here. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. A couple of listeners texting in this morning saying that they are the female gamer to their guy who is the boring wants to watch movies guy hold up don't make us sound boring just because we don't game well in that case no this is that there are some people that it's not even so much not gaming it's wanting to do things that were boring around the house what's going on mojo in the morning hello

02:35:02 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 4:

How many times today have you said because of my concussion? Yes.

02:35:10 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 3:

It's on my mind today. I'm not feeling good at all today. The last two days I felt fine, but today, hot garbage.

02:35:18 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 2:

It used to be because of my back.

02:35:20 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah.

02:35:21 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm so glad you went, Spike, and I'm so glad I yelled at you the other day.

02:35:25 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:35:25 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 4:

You were the one. You're the best, Lisa.

02:35:27 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 2:

But, Lisa, he's having wild sex, he says. Don't you think he should be resting? For the record, he didn't say that. He says, well, he's not supposed to do any, Shannon. You're always sticking up for him. His doctor said no activity. I'm not always sticking up for him. No physical activity.

02:35:44 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 1:

No, his doctor said rest your brain.

02:35:46 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, do you not think he's working his brain when he's having sex?

02:35:52 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 1:

He's not going to rest his brain.

02:35:53 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

He needs to sit in a dark room like Aaron Rodgers is doing and meditate. Right, Lisa?

02:35:59 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 3:

It was dark.

02:36:01 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 4:

The question that we have to ask is what does Meg think about this?

02:36:06 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what does she think about what?

02:36:07 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 5:

Is it spectacular or is it all in his brain?

02:36:10 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, about the sex or the concussion?

02:36:13 - 02:36:14 | Unknown:

Both.

02:36:14 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, she's laughing at the concussion because it just lined up with on the tail end of me finally feeling better from throwing my back out shovel in snow. All of a sudden I got a concussion So she literally said

02:36:25 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 2:

I see why she's so turned on by you

02:36:27 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah exactly She's going to be pushing me around in a wheelchair She literally said So have you given any thought To what next week injury is going to be To get you out of exercising

02:36:38 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 2:

We got another Lisa on the phone Hi Lisa what's up

02:36:44 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 4:

02:37:23 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 2:

02:37:34 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, no, the guy lost the game, and he was all upset. He was mad. I'm sorry, I went to the next line. Joe, what's going on?

02:37:44 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 5:

02:38:03 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

02:38:12 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 5:

As a kid, we weren't allowed to play video games until we did all our chores.

02:38:17 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 2:

02:38:34 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 2:

Not cooking Do you want you to cook Cook a little bit There you go give her a little bit You'll get a little bit

02:38:49 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 5:

02:39:04 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mike, does Allie have any room for that girl's night out for Joe's girl?

02:39:10 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 1:

And we decided we added something to this. We added two things. We're going to put a blindfold on you And handcuffs And they're going to be furry handcuffs So a blindfold and furry handcuffs Because who doesn't like furry handcuffs? I was waiting for somebody to say I love furry handcuffs Yeah, you do you on that one there By the way, the whole handcuffing thing I don't know

Well, you see, you've never done restraints?

02:53:45 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't want to be restrained at all because I'm afraid that she'll leave and then just leave me there. So I've never been that into that, but I'm okay with the blindfold. The blindfold's fun, although the blindfold sometimes gets a little interesting. So thank you to Lover's Lane for this. We appreciate that, especially the Lover's Lane location in Novi and the good people there, the general managers over there and the good people that have helped us with all these promos.
