wake me up when it's over good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show happy day after super bowl everybody the only thing exciting about last night's super bowl was the post super bowl video of people in philadelphia trying to climb light poles and falling on their faces. I mean, that was unbelievable. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles and Philly fan for winning the Super Bowl last night. Other than that, even my food was bad. What's going on, guys? How are you? Oh, real quick, before we go any further. 25. There you go. Don't ever say I don't pay my bets. There you go. Don't ever say I don't pay my bets. I'll save it for the cuss jar. You could have made it a lot bigger, but you had, no, actually, I don't even think you cared who won. Did you care? I wanted the Eagles to win. Did you? Yeah. I wanted Saquon to get a ring. Brandon Graham, who's from Detroit, played at Michigan. Dad is a listener. I wanted him to have fun. Okay. We did what we were supposed to do. All right. And Jalen Hurts, man. I know you don't like him, but. No, I love Jalen Hurts. I think we should have drafted the guy in the second round. Yeah. We picked, who, Okuda or whatever the hell his name was in the first round, and then we picked in the second round. I didn't know who it was. Oh, that was that draft. We should have picked Jalen Hurts. Everybody should have picked Jalen Hurts. Everybody missed on that one. So, I don't know. I mean, listen, we're going to talk everything. The halftime show is obviously probably the most talked about of everything. That's probably where.

00:05:00 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 4:

A lot of people will have an opinion. But is it just me, or was the game, like, off from the start? Unless you're truly from Philadelphia or a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, weren't you going, all right, this sucks? You know what was the game? Watching Travis Kelsey and how depressed the man looked. Somebody get that guy some therapy, for God's sake.

00:05:22 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Somebody get that guy a stylist. What the heck was he wearing on his way into the game? What happened? Out of Bruno Mars' closet or something like that.

00:05:29 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

And his hair. What's up with his hair these days? It's Taylor. It's the Taylor effect. Is it? I mean, is she draining the energy out of that poor bastard? He's lifeless. It is craziness.

00:05:40 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to be honest with you. The Chiefs lost when they had Jon Hamm do that introduction. What the hell was he doing?

00:05:45 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

You know what?

00:05:45 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 5:

That was actually interesting.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Luke, the first thing Luke said was, this is the best they can get is Jon Hamm?

00:05:51 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

I love Jon Hamm. What's wrong with Jon Hamm?

00:05:53 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, they had Bradley Cooper to Jon Hamm. I think Bradley Cooper.

00:05:56 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

I think they're on the same level. No.

00:05:58 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 4:

But Jon Hamm, I don't think of Jon Hamm when I think of Kansas City Chiefs. I think of Paul Rudd. Yeah, for sure. You know what I mean? Or what's his name? What's the comedian's name? The other guy from there that's like one of the Will Ferrell guys.

00:06:14 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I think I like the modern family guy.

00:06:17 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

No, I forget what the guy's name is. I don't know. So there's a whole bunch of other people. But I will say this. the most exciting thing that happened yesterday in that entire game was getting a FaceTime from Shannon's son, Smith, during that game. Shannon and Smith FaceTimed during the game, and Chelsea and I were more excited.

00:06:38 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

All of a sudden we're like, Shannon's FaceTiming! What's going on? You need to call Mojo.

00:06:44 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 4:

That was so damn cute. That kid, by the way, first off, get that kid and whoever his stylist is to Travis Kelsey now because that's how you look, Travis. You look like Smith. Holy crap, that kid's the coolest kid around. How was Smith during the halftime show?

00:07:02 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so we were at a party where there were a ton of people and a ton of kids and I look over and he is singing every single part. Really? And I look at Wes and I'm like, how does he know I'm the worst mom ever? Oh my God, I'm the worst mom ever.

00:07:19 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the greatest one?

00:07:20 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. I hope that Drake sues the crap out of the NFL. certified number point certified it'll just uh ensure his little bitch status and he said that too yeah he did he said that in a

00:07:54 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 4:

performance you know they like to sue you know what's funny i did not know that serena was a

00:08:00 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 5:

former drake oh yeah i didn't know yeah he made songs about her and every that's why common started to beef yeah because common was in a relationship with serena and drake had the whole thing man i

00:08:10 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 4:

had to get brought up here i am i work on the morning show and stuff i have no but i i will say this. I thought the one thing was, and maybe I have to go back to past Super Bowls. Do they all lip sync the entire halftime? Why is it that I felt like Usher was singing last year? No,

00:08:26 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

they started doing it after the Justin

00:08:28 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Timberlake loop thing, right? Maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know if it was that one, but yeah.

00:08:35 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

I don't think SZA was lip syncing the whole time, though. I think the first song she was.

00:08:38 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I don't... Do you think Kendrick was lip syncing? I don't think he was either. I don't think he was the whole

00:08:42 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 4:

time either. Why is it that they didn't have SZA do some of her songs? This is the Kendrick show. I know, but she should have at least, well, does he not like women? Let her have her time. I remember, at least she can't sing live

00:08:56 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

and it was bad. Was it?

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 5:

They're going on tour. This was the Kendrick show. She was a guest. She came on. She filled

00:09:02 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 4:

a row. Listen, everybody has an opinion on that halftime show. I'd love to hear what yours is. It was incredible. That's the opinion. I stand by what I said on the air during Shannon's Dirties. You know, months or weeks ago when I said, I felt like you had to give the old people something. Like, I felt like there had to be something for them and Samuel L. Jackson is not enough. You can't just give me Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam.

00:09:29 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you taste your it's your uncle. I thought he was going to curse. And this is the great

00:09:36 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 4:

American game. If he would have said, get those mother effing snakes off their mother effing plane i would have lost it that would have been the greatest kendrick is so intentional though

00:09:47 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

he's such a storyteller so to have samuel jackson be uncle sam and to have this in some respects politically charged performance that said a lot of stuff without having to say anything can you

00:09:59 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 4:

explain that what it

00:10:00 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

what it meant because i was talking about i can speculate but until kendrick or day free who's a part of kendrick's teams comes out and say this is what it meant it's all just my thoughts and hyperbole but i will say there was a point where obviously his background dancers were dressed in red white and blue colors of the american flag and they positioned themselves as the american flag with kendrick in the center of it so some speculate that he talked about the dissension in america and how in many respects maybe kendrick maybe rap music maybe a black man i don't know that's where it gets you know muddy is at the center of the dissension at times so that's and then you know you have uncle sam played by samuel jackson and he talked about how his first record don't be too ghetto don't be too loud don't be too crazy america doesn't like that and then he started to flow more into the songs and yes this is what they enjoy this is what they like now

00:10:51 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

you're fitting in okay all right well i gotta tell you that at uh certain points during the entire thing i'm i'm watching it going all right is he gonna do not like us i was wondering if that was gonna not be a song he was gonna do because of all the hype of the lawsuits and all the rest and then i thought maybe he'll do a different version of it but then he came right out and did it and i'm like okay this guy he's he's gonna put it all out there and i don't i think it still would have been incredible to bring america together to bring the world together and have drake show up at the very end no that was not it would have been to show that we can all just love

00:11:28 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 6:

we can all be loved why do we need to love people who are accused of that kind of behavior but do

00:11:33 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 2:

we know for a fact is it all alleged i don't know i listen i'll wait i'll wait till a court of law as kevin says uh accusation what's going on zach how you doing false hey what's that

00:11:47 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 1:

How are you, buddy?

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Did you have fun watching that Super Bowl?

00:11:50 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing all right, man. Happy Monday. Happy day after the Super Bowl.

00:11:53 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. How are you doing?

00:11:55 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing okay, yeah. I've seen Kendrick's face. He looked right at the camera when he said Drake's name. I lost it. I lost it.

00:12:05 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Question for you. Did the game and the halftime meet your expectations? Or did you feel let down a little bit? Because I still was thinking to myself, why is Jared Goff not on that field right now? You know what I mean?

00:12:18 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 1:

I agree. I was rooting for Detroit big time. I'm actually a Patriots fan, but I've spent my whole life really a winner.

00:12:25 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 2:

And speaking of that, we know one thing for sure. When Mahomes lost that game yesterday, Tom Brady's still the GOAT. That's a fact. Don't talk to it. Don't you dare. And Tom Brady's wearing a $750,000 watch. What? I know. That might be the ugliest watch I have ever seen.

00:12:41 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 6:

I agree with you. We'll talk about that.

00:12:44 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

Everybody's, oh, it was fake. It was so bad.

00:12:47 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 6:

uh brie what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi hi good morning good morning i just wanted i just wanted to say uh eric stone street is like the eric oh that's right i forgot about that he's

00:12:59 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

always at the game he's cam or something right from uh modern family yes yeah but he's not even the guy i'm thinking about i'm thinking about uh what the hell is that guys i'm telling you it's it's the the comedian uh thuncle or runkle or because caleb heron is a comedian who's from Kansas City? No, there was another comedian. Google comedians from Kansas City. What's his name? You got it. It's on the tip of your tongue. It is. It's right there. It's the guy that I'm telling you that does the stuff with Will Ferrell all the time. What's up, Kirsten? How you doing?

00:13:29 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Rob Riggle.

00:13:32 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Kirsten? You know Rob Riggle. What's up, Kirsten?

00:13:37 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 5:

As a diehard Eagles fan, that was the best, best Super Bowl ever. And I'm a super Kendrick fan, so this was just ideal.

00:13:46 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Are you serious? You thought that? All of them. Listen, why do you guys in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Eagles fans, hate Santa Claus? Explain that to me. What did Santa ever do to you guys?

00:13:57 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 5:

I have no answer for what any of the Eagles fans are responsible for, but, I mean, they keep it entertaining, to say the least.

00:14:06 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

I will say this. You have to admit, if it was a Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions Super Bowl, you could have put me at halftime rapping songs and it would have been nobody would have said anything they would have oh it's great look at that but the game would have meant something that game didn't mean anything like I think going into halftime and seeing how bad the Chiefs were playing like it was I mean Patrick Mahomes looked so bad I mean it was amazing to see all the mistakes that they were making True what's up True?

00:14:39 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 4:

I yeah I was just calling because my daughter, she just kept chanting, Jared Goff, Jared Goff, all day. She was so sad that she didn't get to see him up there.

00:14:51 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny? I talked to a friend of mine that works for Monday Night Football, works for ESPN and ABC, and he was working.

00:15:00 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 3:

in the game because they'd pull everybody in for the Super Bowl. He said that when he was walking up and down Bourbon Street, there were more Lions jerseys, sweatshirts, everything. He said it was unbelievable. You would have thought that the Lions were playing in the game. That's how many Lions fans were still there. We were supposed to be there. We spent that money to go.

00:15:17 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 6:

No refunds.

00:15:19 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

Shanitra, what's up?

00:15:21 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, everyone. Good morning. What was the best halftime show in Mojo on my Facebook? I said, how did you like that to you? Because you're going to stay off of Kendrick. Now, Cam, you can vouch for me that he is the best. He's the greatest. And he deserved that.

00:15:40 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. As he says, we got to be humble, Shanitra. Come on.

00:15:48 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 6:

I'm very humble. And I loved it. And I can't wait for the concert for Mojo.

00:15:53 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 3:

You know, yes. You know what I'm doing? I'm going to get you. I'm going to get you. I'm going to get you those tickets coming up here in a second. Do you have your tickets yet? Of course. You know what's amazing?

00:16:04 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 7:

I'll take more. How is it?

00:16:06 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 3:

Somebody needs to explain this to me. How is anybody these days affording a $500 ticket? I cannot believe that is the most expensive ticket. Like, let's come on, Kendrick. Be humble. Be humble, for God's sakes.

00:16:20 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 6:

But what about Beyonce?

00:16:22 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Listen.

00:16:24 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 6:

What about the rest?

00:16:25 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

Kendrick Lamar is now officially best country artist of the year. Hands down. Congratulations to him.

00:16:31 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 6:

I got it. I got it. I got it.

00:16:34 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 3:

We love you. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it.

00:16:36 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 6:

I love you guys. Thank you so much. Have a great day. Have a blessed day.

00:16:40 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 3:

I can't wait to see the ratings. They were talking before this game about how it was going to be either one of two things. It was going to be the best Super Bowl ratings ever or the worst Super Bowl ratings ever. And I'm really intrigued to see because everybody seems like there's nothing else to watch. You know, I don't know what you're watching besides this, but I'm really interested to see what the second half ratings were to the first half ratings. Like, did people turn away? I really wish. I think so. I wish I would have just said, I'm done.

00:17:07 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 7:

I didn't watch the game.

00:17:08 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 3:

You didn't watch it at all? I didn't watch the game. Oh.

00:17:10 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 7:

I was super sick all weekend, so I went to bed super early. I watched the halftime performance this morning, getting ready.

00:17:17 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 3:

Wow. You know what? Good for you, because guess what? You didn't miss anything at all. Doesn't that make you feel good when you go to bed early?

00:17:22 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 7:

No, because I was super sick.

00:17:24 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, do you feel better?

00:17:25 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 7:

No, I feel like crap.

00:17:27 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez. All right. Well, I do, too. I eat more nachos than I probably should have eaten yesterday.

00:17:33 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 4:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:41 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 3:

This was the year that Kendrick Lamar became the first musician to win a Pulitzer Prize.

00:17:46 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 2:

Kendrick Lamar, if the Pulitzer Prize is there to sort of reward and celebrate artists across disciplines that are performing art at super high artistic integrity, then Kendrick Lamar, it is deserved.

00:18:00 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 3:

Chadwick Boseman was the Black Panther.

00:18:04 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 1:

What's up? I never hear that. And as you can see, I am not dead.

00:18:15 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 3:

And the big song. Kendrick and SZA, we've got a chance for you to win tickets to that show coming up after we get the correct answer for this year. We'll give you some concert tickets for this one to see Foster the People. What year was that from those three clues? Good luck. Prove what a big brain you have.

00:18:35 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 5:

Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:18:43 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Back to the podcast in a second, but you can get everything that you need to start off your new year for just $15 a month when you get to Planet Fitness. Go and join for $1 down, $15 a month. Get into Planet Fitness today.

00:19:00 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 4:

How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:19:05 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

Kendrick Lamar can do it all. He won a Pulitzer Prize in this year.

00:19:08 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 2:

Kendrick Lamar, if the Pulitzer Prize is there to sort of reward and celebrate artists across disciplines that are performing art at super high artistic integrity, then Kendrick Lamar, it is deserved.

00:19:21 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 3:

The Black Panther was in theaters. And the big song from Kendrick Lamar and SZA performing this last night at the Super Bowl. Haley, what year was that?

00:19:46 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 6:

Hi, 2018.

00:19:48 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 3:

Give it to her. Yes, it was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:19:54 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 6:

The Kendrick and Sizzle song. I vividly remember that song being on.

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 5:

During my first year of college, I mean, it just, I don't know.

00:20:04 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Where'd you go to school?

00:20:07 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 5:

I went to Oakland University.

00:20:09 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Thanks for, go Grizzlies. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with a pair of tickets. Foster the People are going to be at the Fillmore on the 17th. So, when is that? Is that a Saturday, Sunday? What is that? Monday? When is that? Seven days from now. Yeah, so a week from today. So, congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with a pair of tickets to go to that show. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com.

00:20:30 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thanks, guys, so much. You're awesome.

00:20:33 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 1:

Appreciate you. Stay kind of warm if you can today. You got to crank that butt warmer on your car. It is so cold. We're giving you a chance to go see Super Bowl performing artists Kendrick Lamar and SZA. We got a bunch of tickets this week. We're going to do some fun stuff. We're going to give you tickets every morning at 630 with text to win. And then we're also going to play a game of rock, paper, paper, SZA.

00:20:55 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 3:

Paper. I like paper.

00:20:57 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Paper. I'm talking like people from Philadelphia right now. Paper. Do they talk like that?

00:21:02 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 4:

Orange.

00:21:03 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 1:

Iron. What a race. We're giving you tickets now by texting. Text squabble, S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E to 95500, and you could be going to see Kendrick Lamar SZA on June the 10th at Ford Field. Text squabble to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply.

00:21:25 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 2:

Low joy in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:21:27 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 1:

All right, so we are looking at a day-to-day where they say, I think it was $3 billion or something like that. There will be $3 billion. Oh, you have it? Oh, you're going to do it in this journey?

00:21:40 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:21:40 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, then go ahead. What is it? It's $3 billion.

00:21:42 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 3:

The Super Bowl flu could cost U.S. businesses a lot of billions of dollars and waste nearly 108 million working hours collectively. They said 23 million Americans are expected to call out of work today for super sick Monday. Super sick. Yeah, and it is around $3 billion. So they tried to do it like how much per hour on average people, and they came out with this like $3 billion number. But if they do show up, if people like us do show up to work, you know, everybody's like about 25% less productive and do nothing for collectively about two hours during the workday. Wow. Yeah, Super Bowl flu is what it's called. I am dragging today. I can feel that.

00:22:30 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Exhausted. Yeah. I think a lot is that you're staying up later than you would have normally on a Sunday night, but also you eat a bunch of crap. And I think that the eating a bunch of crap thing is kind of like, I got like that belly this morning where I'm like, I should not have had that last bit of helping.

00:22:47 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 4:

And some people are partying. They're drinking, having fun, exerting energy. But then it sucks for people like me who aren't actually sick, who can't call off because y'all are going to think that I was at partying all night.

00:22:57 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's funny. The idea of always moving this game, like why don't they play this game on Saturday, has been an interesting debate over the years. But the NFL's smart in this. They want talk. Like they want people to have to go to work the next day so that they can talk about what happened during the game.

00:23:14 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, Patrick Mahomes opening up on X after last night's loss for the Chiefs, writing appreciate all the love and support from chief's kingdom but i let y'all down today i will always continue to work hard and try to learn and be better for it want to give thanks to god for every opportunity he has given me he said we will be back he also mentioned after the game during a press conference that he isn't sure if travis kelsey will return to the chiefs next season

00:23:41 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 2:

travis to come back for next year is that one of those things you got to give him his space to make

00:23:45 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 5:

his own decision I'll let Travis make that decision on his own man he's given so much to this team and to the NFL it's been such a joy not only for me to work with but for people to watch and so he knows he still has a lot of football left in him and you can see he always makes plays in the biggest moments but it's if he wants to put in that grind it takes it to grind to go out there and play 20 games whatever it is and get through the Super Bowl and he's done enough to be a gold jacket uh guy um and first ballot hall of famer um but i know he still has love for the game and um he'll get to spend some time with his family and um make that decision on his own but i mean he knows he'll come back here with welcome arms out we love that guy

00:24:29 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 3:

i can't play you the audio but did you guys hear the eagles fans chanting f taylor swift well they were burning chiefs jerseys after last night's win wow i mean it would literally be like Beep, beep, beep, beep. But, yeah. Oh, yeah. It was loud. And she got booed.

00:24:43 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Booed at the game. Somebody said that she left pretty early. Like, that she was out of there pretty early at the end of that game. Like, I don't know if it was, like, the start of the fourth quarter or whatever. Yeah.

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

She just picked up and left.

00:25:00 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 1:

There were, I mean, a ton of celeb sightings last night, aside from Taylor. Jay-Z brought Blue Ivy and Rumi. Bradley Cooper brought his mini-me daughter, Lady Gaga, partying with Dochi. Ice Spice, the High Am Girls, Miles Teller. I saw Pete Davidson, Kevin Costner, Nikki Glaser, Paul Rudd. And, of course, President Donald Trump was there.

00:25:18 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

What was, can I ask a question about Lady Gaga? Is she okay? What do you mean? She looked like she was sick. There was something, she looked not great.

00:25:29 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 1:

Her performance was amazing. I thought that at the Grammy Awards as well. I think she's just has a funky haircut and she's pale. I don't know. She looks very thin.

00:25:40 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 2:

She looks really thin. I hope she's okay. Very pale.

00:25:42 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 1:

But, yeah.

00:25:43 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 3:

Abracadabra, bro.

00:25:43 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:25:45 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 3:

You know, she just blocked out her eyebrows, right? She looked not great. The eyebrows do. Eyebrows can change things. She blocked out her eyebrows.

00:25:52 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 2:

But she does look like she's really, really skinny. She looked like a character in Dune. that performance was good though i liked that what they did where they walked down bourbon street at the beginning of the game i thought that was great lastly they've been around since

00:26:05 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 1:

1792 but speaking of president trump has announced plans to put a stop to producing pennies and i did not know this but pennies cost i know like who uses pennies anymore really unless i'm giving them to my kids to throw in a fountain but they're they cost three times what their worth. So each penny actually costs almost four times, 3.69 cents to produce. And so Trump wrote on social media for far too long, the U.S. has minted pennies, which literally cost us more than two cents. This is so wasteful. I have instructed my secretary of the U.S. Treasury to stop producing new pennies. And so one penny at a time, he said, let's rip the waste out of

00:26:49 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 2:

So should we save our pennies, and will they be worth money someday? Like, if you've got a jar full of pennies, do you cash them in, or do you hold on to them, and maybe they're vintage? Yeah, I don't know.

00:26:57 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Interesting. I don't know. It's smart, though. I mean, if it's, you know. No new ones, though, this year. One plus one equals two. I can understand it.

00:27:04 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 1:

And President Donald Trump makes his appearance on the radio show today to announce that he's got a tariff against Kevin coming up today. Who do we got here? Let's see. What do we got? Oh, we got Nick back. Nick. What's up, Nick? Your voice just got so high. No, Nick. Good morning. Nick is back. Nick, I understand that there was an ask. I had somebody reach out to my people. Their people reached out to my people, and your people are involved, that said that we're going to go to lunch or have a meal together sometime, Nick. Is that what I'm understanding?

00:28:55 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 1:

I did not know that, but it sounds good to me.

00:28:59 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 2:

I heard that Misfit Victor said that we're going to get together with you for lunch for some reason. I don't know. He was bringing this up to me while I was snoring watching Patrick Mahomes throw 12 interceptions last night. Okay, so Nick is our reigning champion. He's going for five in a row. Kendall is the challenger. Kendall's from Tiffin, Ohio, and works for the Department of Roads. You guys have good Department of Roads. You guys have good roads in Ohio, Kendall. Shout out to the roads in Ohio.

00:29:30 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's my family up in Michigan. I can't ruin my tires.

00:29:34 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 2:

Your only problem with your roads are the Ohio State troopers that pull you over and give you tickets for having a Michigan license plate.

00:29:41 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's not that. It's the fact that y'all fly.

00:29:44 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, we have Nick on the phone with us right now who's going for five in a row. Let's see if he can get a second week going. Or will Kendall from Tiffin knock him off? I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area, Nick, so don't go anywhere. Lydia will talk to you.

00:30:00 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 1:

And Kendall, five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one. President Trump was in attendance at the Super Bowl, Super Bowl 59 yesterday. True or false? He's only the second president to ever attend the big game. False. Question number two. Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in Vancouver to cheer on athletes for this competition for wounded and ill military service people. What's that competition called? Um, I do not recall. Should I pass on that one? Yeah. All right. Question number three. Scream 4 actress Emma Roberts is celebrating her birthday today. Who is her famous aunt? Julia Roberts. Question number four. This all-summer-long singer walked off stage at an event in Nashville over the weekend because he said the audience wasn't clapping loud enough. Who is he? Kid Rock. And question number five, Kourtney Kardashian packed on the PDA with her husband, Travis Barker, after he and his band finished performing at a Super Bowl after party. What's the name of his band? Blink-182. Let's bring the champ back from the soundproof area. Not too bad, Kendall. Four out of five. Wow. Nice. She got four out of five. You're going to have to be near perfect today, Nick. All right. Question number one. President Trump was in attendance at the Super Bowl, Super Bowl 59 yesterday. True or false? He was only the second president to ever attend the big game. False. Correct. He was the first president to ever attend the big game. Question number two. Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were in Vancouver to cheer on athletes for this competition for wounded and ill military service people. What's that competition called? Invictus Games? Yeah, 2-1. Good job. That is the only question that Kendall missed. Will that come back to bite her in the butt? Question number three. By the way, somebody sneezed. Was that a sneeze I heard? Or what was that that I just heard just a little bit ago? What was that noise when I was asking the question? If it was a sneeze, God bless you. If it wasn't a sneeze, I'm sorry for interrupting. Question number three. Scream 4 actress Emma Roberts is celebrating her birthday today. Who is her famous aunt? Julia Roberts? Yes. Three to two. You getting nervous here, Nick? Yeah. Got to get this next question right, at least this next question right, to win with a tie. Question number four. This all-summer-long singer walked off stage at an event in Nashville over the weekend

00:32:59 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 1:

because he said the audience wasn't clapping loud enough. Who is he? Kid Rock. Yes. Four to three. And for a perfect score, Kourtney Kardashian packed on the PDA with her husband, Travis Barker, after he and his band finished performing at a Super Bowl after party. What's his band's name? Blink-182. Yay!

00:33:23 - 00:33:24 | Unknown:

Perfect score.

00:33:25 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 1:

Jay Cobb. I love that man. Oh, man. Super fun. All I do is win, win, win. No matter what. Got money on my mind. I can never get enough. And every time I step up in the building, everybody hands go up. I think that noise was me at the Super Bowl flu. Oh, you're not feeling good? Well, we ain't going out until you feel better, okay? So you get better. We will get you back on here tomorrow as long as you are from a distance on your phone. I feel like I'm fine. Kendall, we got a parting gift for you. I want you to hang on the phone. We're going to give you a $50 gift card to one of my favorite places, Tabooli. It's a great Middle Eastern restaurant. Oh, thank you. So you can come on into the Detroit area and enjoy that. We're also going to have new contestants tomorrow, and we need somebody to play. So if you would like to play, text IWANNAPLAY to 95500. That's IWANNAPLAY to 95500. And you can take on our champion, Nick, tomorrow morning right here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Got another trip to give away. We're going to Florida, where it's not going to snow, four to six inches of snow this week. We're going to send you to Panama City Beach coming up at 7.30. today so be listening for that opportunity at 7 30 to get qualified for that trip we'll qualify five people give you a one in five chance all right it is mojo in the morning show this is going to be a topic for any parent that missed something big in their life and it could be anything maybe it's as big as the birth of your child but it could be something that maybe like happened to shannon this weekend shannon almost became the worst mom ever i i still kind of feel

00:35:26 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 2:

like the worst mom ever even though i i was slightly saved but so uh lucy and smith had excuse me swim meets all day saturday and sunday they're competitive swimmers by the way they both kicked butt and qualified for states this weekend so it was really really really super exciting so um my entire day starting at 8 30 in the morning on saturday was spent at tretton high school, go Trojans, sitting my butt in the bleachers cheering for my children. And by like three o'clock, my butt cheeks were numb and I was hungry and very zoned out because I always bring stuff to do. Like I brought my iPad. I brought a really great book that I had been reading. And so when they weren't actually competing, I was reading this book. It's called Funny Story, by the way. If you're a reader, go get it. It's phenomenal. But so I'm sitting there reading and I know when the kids are supposed to get in the pool and compete because there's like a huge board and it says, you know, the event that they're on and the heat that they're on within that event. So I have everything written down. I knew Lucy was coming up at some point, but I had a while. So I settle in and I am like into this book and it gets to the point, spoiler alert, if you want to read this book and you haven't yet, cause I know it's a popular one right now. Let me suggest a book and then it gets to a point in the book where the two main characters are finally admitting that they are in love with each other and they're hooking up and it was like such a good steamy part of the book and i'm so into it and i look like i glance up to check the scoreboard to see what event they're on and i see lucy's name with a time and a place number as i'm reading this smut as my grandmother used to call it i am like holy crap i missed her like I had been waiting for this particular race and I'm like oh my god oh my god in my head I think I said every swear word ever and again I'm like I am literally the worst mom you're reading a like is it like it's not even like a 50 shades of gray type of book but it was this part in the

00:37:52 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 1:

book we're like that's happening before you finish your story that was weird that you say you bring this up because I read over the weekend somewhere where these novels that our grandparents used to read like even not even our parents read them our grandparents read them or great-grandparents read them are like back now yeah oh this is a brand new book like everybody's everybody's reading these these like these old or like books like that where the guy that looks on there looks

00:38:16 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 2:

like that guy fabio or whatever you know this is a new book this is an old book but right yeah but they're making new books yeah i love a good enemies the lovers oh my god i look up i'm like oh my god i missed i felt terrible and then i realized what was happening like this all happened in a split second that though the place and the time were from the previous swimmer in her lane and as i make this realization i see her jump into the pool and i'm like thank you jesus and truly she crushed it and qualified so i'm so happy i didn't miss it but i'm like could you imagine if i walked out of here i've been sitting here all day and i missed it because i'm reading this

00:38:52 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

damn book oh my god but that's the worst by the way that that is so bad and as a parent there's nothing worse because then she'll go didn't you think i'd be great and then you just lie oh yeah you gotta lie yeah you cannot tell the truth on that one i can't tell you how many times this has happened probably to some parent out there where your kid did something that was amazing and you were not you were looking at your phone we do it all the time we yell at them for not being present and we're not the ones that are are present i actually uh have a story not about me because i would never make myself look like a bad dad um but uh i remember uh my good friend jamie who used to god rest his soul uh jamie was the morning uh guy up on uh 97.1 and he died tragically of colon cancer and christy his beautiful wife worked here christy mcdonald worked uh at channel uh four just recently i think she just left channel four locally our kids played baseball against each other and i remember jamie's telling me he's like yeah i'm leaving i'm gonna go right now i go where are you going your kids are playing a game like we're watching a game and he goes i got a tenant

00:40:00 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 2:

match i'm going to and i and i were like you're going to play tennis while your kid's playing a game and he's like yeah you know my kid plays a lot of games so i did the whole deal the whole deal you know he's like i gave him so much crap on the radio because his kid got up the next time up the bat and his son hit a towering home run the center field so i gave him so much crap over that whole deal and then years later obviously you know jamie passed and i thought i always thought god i felt guilty but our relationship was one where we gave each other so much but that is like though that's happened i have had to go potty numerous times and i'm like what spot in the

00:40:34 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 7:

lineup is luke you know what i mean like you leave and you go and yeah i know and this was her big

00:40:40 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 2:

moment too i would have felt awful lydia brought up something funny you said your mom never caught

00:40:44 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 1:

one of your big moments when you were growing up yeah so i was uh playing softball and i hit my first home run and i looked up and my mom wasn't there and i'm like what the hell like where were

00:40:53 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 2:

you and she was like i was getting a hot dog love science don't blame her blame the concession stand for taking a uh yeah that's the worst 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want you to tell us what did you miss or what was missed by your parent because i bet you your parent stories are even funnier than the ones that you being the parent because you hear these stories all the time about the dad or the mom that didn't show up to something what's up kelsey hi

00:41:24 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

00:41:25 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on? Shannon almost became the worst parent ever, but instead, we're going to give it to Kelsey's dad. What did your dad do?

00:41:34 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 3:

So, my sister was graduating high school, and it was a big class. We lived in Arkansas at the time. He was like, I'm going to step outside real quick, smoke a cigarette. I'll be back in time. And he definitely did not make it back into the building in time to see her graduate.

00:41:49 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. For a cigarette. Oh, my God. That's terrible. I know. That's real bad. But she didn't know it, right?

00:41:59 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 3:

No, she still doesn't know it. I'm like, should I tell her?

00:42:01 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 7:

I don't know if she'd even care at this point anymore. No, do not.

00:42:05 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Does it ever come to a point where you want to show that your dad loves you more than he loves your sister and say to her, let me tell you what happened?

00:42:13 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 4:

We had this battle for years. When I was a kid, she used to be like, that's my daddy. And I would just bawl my eyes out. So, I mean, I could definitely get her back with that one for sure.

00:42:21 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 2:

That is hysterical. What a great one to start off with. Listener Shannon on with us right now. What's going on, Shannon? Hi.

00:42:29 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So I decided to skip one of my son's tournaments. He plays baseball. Because I thought getting my hair done that weekend was more important. And I missed his grand slam.

00:42:45 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 7:

How'd your hair look, Mama?

00:42:46 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, well, the thing is, is my sister works at a salon and doesn't, so I probably could have picked any other weekend.

00:42:55 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Why?

00:42:56 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 6:

I had total mom guilt. It was awful.

00:43:01 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 2:

I've missed so much crap, too, for work and things like that. We used to travel to go to Atlanta all the time to a big party for Norm. Yeah. And there are so many times I, like, missed dances. No. Stupid stuff. Like, I look back on the things that I missed and the stuff that I missed them for, and I mean, yours, obviously, is really bad, Shannon. I mean, a hair appointment. I mean, come on. Mine, at least, I was hanging out watching, what was that stripper's name that was down in Atlanta that we saw?

00:43:31 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. What? Blondie. Blondie.

00:43:33 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Blondie.

00:43:34 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:43:34 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 2:

Blondie, the stripper that used to smash beer cans in between her tatas. I could do that. You can. You should actually start that hair. She was famous there. He made some money. Lil Wayne and Tyga and all those guys used to go see her all the time in Atlanta.

00:43:51 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 7:

They used to rap about her. Yeah. Stop.

00:43:54 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 2:

For real? I like this one here. This is great. How many dads have fallen asleep in the middle of their kids' solo recital? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500. A texter, 248, says that that happened. Oh, and then some that just didn't even show up. We got to pick up your phone if we're calling you on the text lines. Some of these texts are great. Oh, my God. My dad missed my birth. He went bowling that night. Oh, my God.

00:44:25 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 7:

My dad actually almost missed mine for the same reason. Is that not a Midwestern? Yeah, it was bowling night. And my mom warned him, do not go. And if you go, do not get drunk. And what happened? He went and he got drunk.

00:44:37 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 2:

That is a Tim Murphy. Totally. What's going on, Rose? Hi.

00:44:42 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning. So my story is when I was in middle school, I had gotten like a solo recital and neither of my parents showed up, but my friend's mom came to support me and she totally screamed in front of the entire school when I went up.

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 2:

That is so sweet.

00:45:03 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 1:

That's actually kind of nice, though, that they did that.

00:45:06 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was very nice.

00:45:07 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I remember one time. Rose, have you been listening to the show for a while?

00:45:13 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

Not too long, actually. I haven't listened to Michigan very long. I'd say I just started listening this year, but I call on pretty often.

00:45:19 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 1:

So we used to do these parties all the time, these called the pajama parties. And we haven't done a pajama party probably in the last two or three years. Hopefully they'll come back I don't know why we just changed up We do rooftop parties and things like that I missed one of Jacob's big events For a pajama party And the worst is I'm on stage at the pajama party Looking like I'm Hugh Hefner In these silky pajamas And Chelsea is sending me pictures Of Jacob up on stage Acting in some kind of a play

00:45:54 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 2:

No, Bojo

00:45:55 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 1:

Tell me that's not the reason why my kids are in therapy right now. It's the worst. Thanks for the call. I appreciate it. And thanks for listening to us. Welcome to wherever you moved to. Did you move to Ohio or Michigan?

00:46:09 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 2:

Wisconsin, actually. I'm from Wisconsin originally. Oh, my God.

00:46:12 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 1:

So are you living here in our listening areas or are you listening on the iHeart app?

00:46:18 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 2:

I live in the area now. So I live in, like, Downriver, Taylor.

00:46:23 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, welcome. We're happy to have you here. Yes, indeed. I can't believe how many family members missed the weddings. Look at all these texters here. My dad was supposed to walk me down the aisle. No. Okay. He stopped off to get tacos, and the line was long. To be fair. Oh, my God. I love a good taco. That's crazy. Few things beat a good taco. Another one here. 734, my husband almost missed the birth of our daughter for some Taco Bell.

00:46:51 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 3:

Tacos are a popular one.

00:46:52 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. That person's on the phone. Paige, are you there? yes can you hear me hey we're doing great i we need to shout out your husband the guy almost

00:47:02 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 3:

missed the birth of your child for taco bell yeah he was supposed to go home just to get our delivery bag because it had been a long 72 hours and he decided to stop and get taco bell and almost

00:47:17 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

missed the birth of our daughter oh my god please tell me that you did you want to like crush him when he got back in, the fact that he smelled like Taco Bell?

00:47:25 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 3:

I still freaking throw it in his face. I'm like, you almost missed the birth of our daughter for some Taco Bell. He'll never let that one down, ever.

00:47:34 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 1:

Is there also something to the fact that you can't eat for, like, 72 hours? Because you really can't have much, can you, when you're doing this?

00:47:41 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, it was coming out both ends for 72 hours. It was very bad. It was very, very bad. He was, yeah, didn't get brownie points for that one.

00:47:52 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

That's hysterical. Elizabeth, what's up? Your mom almost missed you doing something cool?

00:47:59 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 4:

So I was in high school, and I was running track, and it's the first time I ever won first place in one of my heats. But she missed it because she was on the phone with my now brother-in-law who was asking for my sister's hand in marriage. Oh.

00:48:18 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 2:

That's a big event. I mean, that's an important moment, too. You can't blame her for that one.

00:48:25 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 4:

If it helps, I'm the middle child.

00:48:28 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 1:

Now you do sound like my son, Jacob. The middle child syndrome comes right up on this. Hey, thanks for the call. We appreciate it, Elizabeth. You're always number one daughter for us, though. Thanks. Want to get the hell out of Dodge? We got the plane and the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:46 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 3:

Listen to 730 to get in on Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:50 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Can we do a thing called Man Card Monday? Sure. We haven't done this in a while on the show. We used to do Man Card Monday where on Mondays we would have women call out their boyfriend or husband and tell us why your guy's losing his man card over something that he did over the weekend. And I think it started when I talked about how my wife built like some kind of piece of furniture. And that weekend I went and got manicure, pedicure.

00:49:17 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 2:

I actually, it was when your wife epoxied your garage floor. That's it.

00:49:21 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

That's it.

00:49:22 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 2:

And you got a manicure?

00:49:23 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 1:

I got a manicure, pedicure, and a facial.

00:49:25 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 4:

Nice.

00:49:26 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So I would like to do this because I know that there's a lot of people that can relate to this. Is there anybody listening, any guy listening, or a lady that wants to call out their guy? What did your guy watch instead of the Super Bowl last night? We're going to take their man card away. Because Super Bowl's on, and there's really nothing else on but the Super Bowl. I want to know for man card Monday or what did what did you do guys what did you do over the weekend that would require us to take your man card away your buddies would never ever be able to let you live it down 844 mojo live 844 6

00:50:00 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 8:

8465-6548-844-665-6548-844-MOJO-LIVE. Instead of watching the Super Bowl, what did you watch? And then also, if there's any guys that did anything that they would be embarrassed to go and tell the guys on the line about today. Can you imagine, though, if you're a guy and you go, I was watching the Puppy Bowl. I can't imagine you watching anything else.

00:50:20 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 2:

Do they still have the Puppy Bowl?

00:50:21 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 8:

Yes, Sweet Pea. Of course they do.

00:50:23 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 3:

Sweet Pea Rip.

00:50:24 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 8:

That's the winner?

00:50:25 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

No, Sweet Pea was on last year's Puppy Bowl, and the big story was at the very end of the Puppy Bowl, there was an announcement about how the dog had died, but everybody thought it was the best dog in the Puppy Bowl.

00:50:36 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 8:

I didn't know that. It's funny. What is it on? What is the Puppy Bowl on?

00:50:40 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 3:

Is it on Animal Planet? It used to be on Animal Planet. They still got that channel.

00:50:45 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 8:

I didn't realize this. Zach was telling me this today because he was streaming on Hulu, the Super Bowl. He said that you don't get the same Super Bowl ads as everybody else. Like, the ads were different.

00:50:53 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 9:

Like, if you're not watching that Fox, really? Yeah.

00:50:56 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 8:

So are they good?

00:50:57 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 9:

I mean, when you watch. Did you notice? You don't notice it. When you're watching the Super Bowl, you just see commercials pop up. Let me ask you this, though.

00:51:02 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

00:51:03 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 9:

Because I made myself a drink yesterday. I got some new vodka, and I had some cranberry juice in there. Had my ice in there. And typically, I'll grab my cup and, like, stir it, like, kind of, like, shake it.

00:51:17 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:51:18 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 9:

But I had, like, these long straws that Josiah used, and I put the straw in there to, like, mix it. Yeah. Does that take away my man card? Do you drink it out of the straw? No, no, you just throw it in the sink.

00:51:28 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 8:

No. Okay. No, that's okay. Your man card's okay with that, although you could use your finger and just do it with your finger.

00:51:33 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 9:

We don't get deep enough. You got to go all...

00:51:34 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 2:

But if it was like a curly straw, a fun straw, and you were drinking out of that, my answer would be quite different. A little neon green straw.

00:51:42 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 3:

A little color-changing straws.

00:51:45 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 8:

Our buddy Johnny Dare says, as a guy, you never use the cocktail straw, the little teeny ones. Yeah, nah. If you start drinking out of the cocktail straws, he says it's like sucking a little.

00:51:55 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 9:

You have a little penis. I've done it before. You got to like go extra hard on there, Paul. Yeah, pull it out. You know what I'm saying? Yeah.

00:52:01 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 8:

All right, Man Card Monday. What's going on, Sam? How you doing?

00:52:05 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys?

00:52:07 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 8:

Good. Instead of watching the Super Bowl, we're taking your guy's man card away. What was he doing?

00:52:12 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 4:

So my husband was watching YouTube videos about people cooking while they're like out in the wilderness surviving. I love those. They're cooking, like, steaks on, like, the rocks and stuff, which looks amazing. But I was like, hey, let's switch it over. I want to at least catch, like, the halftime show. We got to be, like, somewhat Americans here. And he wouldn't switch it. I had to watch it on my phone.

00:52:34 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. That's funny. Not on the main TV. That is bad. Allison, hi. We're taking your guy's man card away. What was he watching instead of the Super Bowl?

00:52:43 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. My husband wanted to turn it off and watch Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. No. I got him so into it, and he just, yeah, he was over it. The lines aren't in it, didn't care.

00:52:55 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 8:

That one blonde with the short hair is so hot on that show.

00:52:59 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 6:

Heather, Heather is beautiful.

00:53:01 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 8:

She's hot.

00:53:02 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 6:

Sorry, Whitney.

00:53:03 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 8:

Or Whitney, no, Whitney. Whitney, she's hot, but she might be dumb as rocks. I love that show. And the show hasn't been good since Jen Shaw left.

00:53:11 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 9:

What is going on right now? Agreed. How do you know all these people?

00:53:15 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 8:

I like watching them with Chelsea. Alexis, what's going on? Sure.

00:53:18 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

00:53:19 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 8:

Hi. Instead of watching the Super Bowl, what was your guy watching?

00:53:23 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 7:

Love after lockup.

00:53:26 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 8:

You know what? Honestly, I would have changed that after the performance, the halftime performance. The second half sucked.

00:53:33 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 7:

My husband doesn't know anything about sports. Like, you can't have a conversation. He doesn't even know sports teams. He knows not a single thing. That's funny. We were like, I put the game on in the bedroom so I could watch it because I watch sports. And we're at that. He's like, can we just change it? He's like, there's only like four minutes left. And I'm like, right, there's only four minutes. He's like, that could be an hour. Change it.

00:53:53 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 8:

I can't believe, by the way, how many guys don't know the team's names. And then I saw yesterday a clip that was on TikTok of how Lawrence Taylor didn't know the team names from each city. Lawrence Taylor, who is the famous linebacker from the Giants, they said that he used to say to guys, what's the New Orleans team's name? And they're like, the Saints. Like, he wouldn't know them. Reagan, what's going on? Instead of watching the Super Bowl, what did your guy watch?

00:54:16 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, my fiancé, instead of watching the Super Bowl, he chose to watch Outlander with me.

00:54:21 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 8:

Wow. So you went into the other room to watch it, and he said, no, stay in this room. We'll all watch it together.

00:54:27 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 5:

Exactly.

00:54:29 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 8:

It's wild. You know what? It wasn't a great Super Bowl. It wasn't like it was really exciting. What's up, Ryan? How you doing?

00:54:35 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

00:54:36 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 8:

Good. Are you calling yourself out?

00:54:39 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I am. My girlfriend was over last night. We watched Bob Burgers and the Goldbergs.

00:54:44 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I'm okay with that.

00:54:45 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 8:

Did you try any of the game or at least see any, like, did you want to see the hype of anything?

00:54:50 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 1:

I watched a little bit when I was at my sister's room, and when I left there, I didn't even turn it on at home.

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 8:

Bob's Burgers does better. Yeah. It'd be interesting to see. I really want to see what the ratings are like.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

Josh, instead of watching the Super Bowl, what did you watch?

00:55:03 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, everybody? Good morning. What's up, man? I was sleeping instead of watching the Super Bowl. Oh, same. What is wrong?

00:55:10 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 4:

You know what he probably works? Not feeling well or just worked all weekend? I worked midnight, so it makes up a little bit. Okay.

00:55:17 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I got to tell you, I almost went to bed. We were sending each other our pictures to post for, like, what all of us were doing. And when Megan wrote or put on there that she was eating soup because she wasn't feeling good, And part of me was thinking to myself, I'm like, you know what? This is going to be one of those ones where I just don't want to get sick. So I'm like, I should get some good rest tonight. And then I stayed up. I even watched the stupid trophy presentation at the end.

00:55:39 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 5:

It's part of the game. Can I let you in on a little secret? Yeah. I sent that to the group chat. Didn't make the soup. Just went to bed right now. I put that back in the cabinet. And I laid down in bed and I went to sleep.

00:55:52 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 3:

Look at all these people, by the way, that are texting and saying, I let my kids watch cartoons. I watch, you know, Mr. Beast. Like all these people are watching. and nobody's watching the Super Bowl. I don't get it.

00:56:00 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 5:

I don't feel like I missed anything. I don't feel like anybody's talking. Like, I woke up this morning. I watched the Kendrick halftime show. Yeah. That's all I needed.

00:56:09 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 2:

The game was hype, though. The interceptions. Like, it was hype.

00:56:12 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 3:

It was. It was. Listen. The sacks. And Tom Brady, by the way, was not great yesterday.

00:56:17 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 4:

Did Gronk say one word? He grunted. Literally, did he say one word? I didn't watch a ton of the game. I was at a party and watched the halftime show, and then I got home and watched a little bit more, but I truly did not hear Gronk say one word.

00:56:32 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 3:

He can barely put sentences together. It's not mean, it's a fact. All right, giving away a trip to Florida. It's so cold this morning. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up in Panama City Beach? 00:57:07 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:57:10 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 3:

A lot of stuff to get to this morning. We are going to have a second date update coming up. We're going to go more than an hour without a commercial. So we'll go like an hour 15 or hour 20 or something like that. So the next time that you hear from top dog law, it's going to be a long time. So here we go, Shannon. Give us the top dog. Dirty on the 30.

00:57:34 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 4:

Well, the Eagles dominated early and didn't stop, ultimately stopping a three-peat by the Kansas City Chiefs last night. Up until the last two minutes of the game, it looked like it might end up one of the top ten biggest Super Bowl blowouts ever. but the Chiefs did manage to up the score enough in the final moments to avoid getting slapped with that fate. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts named Super Bowl MVP.

00:57:58 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 1:

Personally, myself, I've just been able to use every experience and learn from it. The good, the bad, all of it, using it as fuel to pursue my own greatness. And I think I couldn't do any of these things without the guys around me. You know, we had a special group this year. We were able to learn from the past and get some nice new pieces and get over that hump.

00:58:22 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 3:

By the way, can I ask you a question? When the Mahomes rally at the end to just try to screw up your scores happened, how many people were pissed? How many people were like, just stop it right now. I'm going to win my scores.

00:58:36 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 5:

You're talking about betting? Yeah.

00:58:38 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 3:

Or when you buy squares and stuff like that.

00:58:42 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 2:

I mean, some people had Xavier Worthy who caught the touchdown. Some people had DeAndre Hopkins for reception. Some people win, some people lost, but that's betting.

00:58:52 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 3:

My kids lost a bunch of money. Joe and Luke both thought that Saquon was going to be the first touchdown of the game. And Saquon got stopped. I mean, that was the only thing that the Chiefs did.

00:59:01 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 2:

That was the problem, though. They probably put all their eggs in the Saquon basket, and they succeeded in that. But they lost the war with Jalen.

00:59:09 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Kendrick Lamar, absolutely incredible performing. For just under 13 minutes, one critic called it a master class in ass whooping for just so many different ways he clapped at Drake during that performance from the lowercase A chain.

00:59:28 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 2:

I didn't get that until today. Oh, really? I did.

00:59:31 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That actually makes me feel kind of cool because I did get that last night. First off, also, now Wes wants bell bottoms because of Fender. And I was like, please no.

00:59:41 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 5:

Can I say the first thing I thought? When I saw that performance was, oh, he's bringing back new jeans for men.

00:59:46 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 2:

Yo, they're cooking them all on Twitter. I mean, he had Serena Williams up there.

00:59:50 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Drake's ex. He had, I mean, the lights in the crowd spelling out game over to close his. He had already.

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 3:

He won his battle with Drake before last night, but he truly took the opportunity to dance on Drake's grave on the biggest stage possible, and he did it.

01:00:08 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 1:

I did not realize he's smaller than Kevin Hart. He's a little guy.

01:00:14 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 3:

He is a little guy.

01:00:15 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 1:

I would love to do a back-to-back with him and Kevin Hart because K. Hart has been in our studio before, and he is a little guy. And maybe those bell-bottoms make you look smaller, which, by the way, Wes, you could pull off anything. No, no, no. Please say no. But don't pull off anything making you look small. I'm telling you, because I'm saying, they say that bell bottoms are not great for smaller guys to wear. But his butt looks so good. I'm wearing flare pants tomorrow. I should have worn them today. I'm going to do them tomorrow. Yeah, I got flare pants. Y'all done seen them before. Really?

01:00:46 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Flair, you're right. They weren't really bell bottoms. No. They were just like, what is that?

01:00:49 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

At the bottoms of, he, listen, I mean, everything that he was wearing, obviously, was very, very cool. But I think that, I don't know, I think that, I still say this. I stand on record. I still think that he needed something. Like, there are some people, and some people are like, oh, all the white people didn't like it. No, listen, I think that there are some older people that, whether you're white or black or Hispanic or Asian, whatever, I think you're like, oh, okay, like, I don't really know much about what's going on. I think a lot of white people liked it.

01:01:19 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 2:

I just want people to elaborate. I love when people are like, I hated it. Why? Because it was bad. Why? Crickets.

01:01:28 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 1:

I think it was, honestly, you're just not a fan of the music. Which is fine.

01:01:32 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

I would probably say the same thing about country artists.

01:01:35 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 3:

The Prince halftime show, I hated every second of it.

01:01:37 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 2:

Right, but you can say, I'm not into that music. Not, it was bad. Right. You know what I mean? And that was, yeah.

01:01:44 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 1:

I think, honestly, I think that the commercials were underwhelming to me. Like, I thought that the game was underwhelming. I thought the commercials, maybe a handful. I mean, the Rocket commercial, the Jeep commercial. The seal commercial. Pringles commercial. The seal one was funny. That was funny. The Hellman's mayonnaise. The problem is still, they're showing us these commercials too early. Yes. And we have no surprises at all.

01:02:06 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 2:

I haven't watched the game. I know half the commercials you just talked about. I know.

01:02:10 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 1:

You saw them already in the last couple.

01:02:13 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 3:

Nobody's talking about this, but on Friday, the Critics' Choice Awards took place in Santa Monica, honoring the best in film voted by the Critics' Choice Association, which is made up of like 600 critics and media journalists. The show hosted by Tilsey Handler.

01:02:27 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 2:

So it is important in times like these to have a distraction. And that's why I want to personally extend my gratitude to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.

01:02:41 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Taylor showed up with a whole bunch of celebrities. Do we know if Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively, she wasn't there?

01:02:50 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

01:02:50 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 1:

They're still not. That whole thing is that you talked about on Friday. Because I was wondering.

01:02:55 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't think you're going to see them together for a long time, if ever.

01:02:58 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 1:

So you think that, so your dirty story is legit then that you had on Friday that those guys are not?

01:03:03 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 3:

Every dirty story Shannon does is legit. I know. Okay, so somebody I talked to about that going, you're skipping all over the place right now. But going back to that, somebody told me that they are still friends. Taylor is really just trying to distance herself publicly, but she does understand why they threw her name into the mix of this, but it's still, it's not good.

01:03:27 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 1:

Who were the celebrities then that Taylor was showing up with? Because they were talking about how-

01:03:31 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 3:

The High Am? Well, she showed up with the High Am girls. What's her? Ice Spice was there. I feel like she was with Ice Spice last year at the Super Bowl as well, sat next to her.

01:03:40 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 1:

They say that they took up, that she took up the most hotel space of any of the celebrities because she required a floor on either way to be empty, which is unusual that a city like New Orleans, which doesn't have like a crazy amount of hotel space.

01:03:55 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 2:

You know, she paid for it, right?

01:03:57 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:03:58 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 3:

Going back to the Critics' Choice Awards, Best Actress, Demi Moore for The Substance, Best Picture, Anora, Hacks won Best Comedy Series, Kathy Bates, Kieran Culkin, Adrian Brody, and Zoe Saldana also took home trophies. And Kid Rock, a special guest at Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan's birthday bash in Nashville, this was Saturday, came out for a performance of CCR's Proud Mary. But things very quickly went sideways after the crowd wouldn't clap with him. And he had asked the crowd to clap. And there were a few people in the front row who were doing it. But everybody else was partying, dancing. They had a beer in their hands. they were taking videos with their phones, or they had both hands up in the air, he was not happy about this.

01:04:57 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

01:05:00 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Left, he wasn't joking, would not get back on stage the entire night. My favorite part about this is band didn't stop playing. Oh, they didn't. They played the entire night.

01:05:14 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 3:

So he wanted them to clap along with the song. Yes. Yeah. Oh, yes.

01:05:18 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And they wouldn't do it. So he was like, okay, I'm done with you.

01:05:20 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Eva.

01:05:21 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. It's Mojo with Shannon and Megan. We got Kevin, KP, Lydia, Zach, Bianca, Marcy, Alicia, Angel, Colleen, Tony, the guy that sits out here in the building in the air. I don't even know what his name, you know, Bob, Larry, Susan. I don't know. All right. Kevin. Kevin is upset because he said somebody is talking business about you.

01:07:51 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 4:

Upset is the proper term. Um, initially when this information was brought to me, I was upset. Uh, this is a situation where someone told my business and it's not your business to tell my story. And especially when it's something that shouldn't be in your mouth anyway, I don't enjoy when my life is the topic of someone else's conversation. And I don't enjoy when it feels like it's gossipy. like that if the situation doesn't cause for you to bring me up and to bring up my life then don't and this was a situation where someone came to me and said by the way i heard such and such and such and such something that's very personal to me and i didn't tell that person only a handful of people know the situation so for this person to bring it up and i know who told them because they told me who told them we we gotta have a conversation get your mother

01:08:47 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 3:

effing mouth out my mother seriously so is it is it the will is it uh the will uh smith uh you're

01:08:55 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 4:

gonna punch the person i don't it has i don't know why i don't even know why this is a conversation because and another thing is it's it's a man who was gossiping and i feel like as men we supposed to have a code of like what needs to be discussed and what doesn't need to be discussed but no matter what your gender is like if if your friend has something going on or whatever the case may be It is not your place to go spread that information. I don't care who you're talking to.

01:09:21 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 3:

So the person that told you this said to you that this person told them this. And have you confronted them? You're not confronted them yet?

01:09:33 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 4:

No, it has to be face-to-face.

01:09:34 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:09:35 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Is this somebody you see regularly?

01:09:37 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And what is, so how did it get brought? How did, did they come to you and say to you what's, you know, what's up?

01:09:44 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 4:

The person came over, and we're just having conversation because we're catching up. And this was one of the things that they brought up in our credit.

01:09:51 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 3:

So they brought up the stuff. And are they talking crap about you, or what are they saying about you?

01:09:55 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

No, not talking crap. I don't even think it was like, there was no ill intention. There was no ill will, but it's still not true.

01:10:00 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

responsibility to talk about my life and so what did uh what was the person that told you this telling what was was they were they telling you because they wanted you to know

01:10:11 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 3:

or how like explain to me that how it got brought up we were just catching up talking about each other's lives okay so-and-so told me yeah and i understand i'm sorry like that kind of thing but it's not like they shouldn't even know about the situation so what uh uh what do you do now

01:10:29 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 2:

Do you like how do you take it to this level? And by the way, if you're somebody that is listening and I've ever had this happen to you before, maybe you can give Kevin advice on what he should do with us.

01:10:39 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 3:

A piece of mine want to call a person and say, let's meet up so that I can address it quickly so that it doesn't get spread around even more than another piece of me knows that we'll come into contact again and just bring it up naturally. The next time that I see him, don't force the issue just when the opportunity presents itself nipping in the bud at that point.

01:10:56 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

you know what you do sometimes when this happens and this does happen because people talk about everybody right gossip is is out there people always like the gossip um you spread bad gossip and then you see if there's a consistent pattern of this whole thing you make sure that there's

01:11:11 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 1:

bad gossip that's out there you always spread bad gossip when you're trying to catch the person but it sounds like you know who the person is oh for sure you already just don't trust that person But it's not even bad gossip. It's your life. Yeah. So that's like, I feel this so much because I feel like this was my life for a good year when I was going through a divorce. And there were so many instances of people like speculating or sharing or asking for more information. And it was like my that's who I learned who my like true ride or die friends were who would go out and and call people out. and say face to face do you know her personally do you know him personally so why is this a

01:11:54 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 2:

discussion at the bus stop right so what did you do when you found out that somebody was saying

01:11:59 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 1:

something about you how did you confront them do you want to know something I saw one of the people this past weekend actually and I still cannot have I I am not as bold as you are Kev I feel like I'm getting to that place where I can like go up to somebody and call them out but I saw this girl this weekend and i still like i don't care for her because like i i went through this was years ago and blocked her on all my social media and i still haven't unblocked her because i'm like i know like i know who you are yeah under there you know um like under the fakeness and so it's

01:12:34 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 2:

it's really hard hey sean what's going on it's mojo in the morning somebody's spreading some stuff about kevin and uh kevin's gonna confront them yes i was wondering the person that told

01:12:45 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 5:

the other person are they in relationship with each other because i know sometimes when people in relationship with each other they talk too much and i don't like that i agree like spouses

01:12:54 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 2:

you mean like husband's wives and or boyfriend girlfriends yes and i i even though you're in

01:13:00 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 5:

relationship with that person i still think you are not supposed to be telling the other person especially if they're your friend and then all of a sudden you wonder why your spouse or significant other don't like the other person because you keep telling them all they've been.

01:13:15 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 2:

How do they know each other? How do the people know each other?

01:13:17 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 3:

This isn't a pillow talk situation. They're not in a relationship, but they are good friends.

01:13:21 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 2:

So can I tell you something? It's interesting. Sean, you bring this up. Your name is Sean?

01:13:26 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:13:27 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 2:

Sean, if somebody tells me something, I tell them right off the bat. I got to tell my wife because I'm going to say this to you and I know people think that this is bad. I won't keep anything from her because then she'll believe that I'm keeping other things from her. And so I will say, listen, I will tell my wife, and I believe my wife will keep that secret and not say anything, but I'm not going to be the person that's only going to be the person that knows this thing. And I've had people, and I said, so if that's the case, just so you know, and I've been really open about that, because the pillow talk type stuff does happen. And I think that there are people that will tell their significant others, you know, the secrets and stuff. Right, right. But I think you got to be upfront if you are in a situation where you are in a relationship, if you are going to, if the person says, Hey, you cannot tell, like people will say to me, you can't even tell Chelsea. I'm like, then don't tell me. Cause I don't want to know. I really don't. I don't, I don't want to, cause I don't want to have to hold up to that. And then Chelsea comes back later and goes, you knew about this all along and what else? I don't want it to ever make her doubt my relationship with her. You know what I mean? And I don't want to keep secrets from the person that I shouldn't be keeping secrets from. Thomas, what's up?

01:14:37 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, guys? Man, I'm going to tell you something. My block game is stronger than my pullout game. Like, the first time I hear that you are talking about me, you're immediately cut off. You will never have access to me again. Everything that you got will be old news. So enjoy.

01:14:59 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Prove it to us.

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

us how many kids do you have right four okay ain't that good i i'm telling you i don't i don't take

01:15:07 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 4:

no prisoners bro i'm leaving them all in it that pull out game is not good on that one uh what's going on matt hi what's happening hey how you doing good what's going on now i was just calling

01:15:20 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 6:

that with the topic i feel like no one's business should be broadcasted on like the radio So, like, when you have people calling in desperate to find out if there's significant others cheating or sending roses to someone else, I feel like that's something they should handle privately and not blast them all over the radio for the whole, you know, couple states.

01:15:41 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, and you bring up a great point. Here we are, we look like hypocrites when we're trying to say that we don't want our business out there, but yet we're allowing other people's business.

01:15:49 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 6:

That's why I'm calling in. I'm like, wait, hold on.

01:15:51 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 3:

I disagree, though. I hear what you're saying, but I think that someone else is calling in about their own business. That's why we have it. You know what I mean? Like, it's not like we're calling them trying to figure out what's going on. They call us.

01:16:05 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 6:

At the same time, though, the other person's not giving, like, you know, consent for their business to be blasted all over for, you know, whichever, you know, all of Michigan to hear.

01:16:13 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 4:

In full transparency, we don't ever air anything unless we get both consents. Legally, we have to. I mean, that's obviously, you know, pulling back the curtain of the Wizard of Oz here for a second, but that, it truly is.

01:16:29 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 6:

So cheaters give consent?

01:16:31 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 4:

So the person that.

01:16:32 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm a cheater. I'm caught. Like, just blast me on the radio.

01:16:35 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 4:

Believe it or not, believe it or not, in this day and age of reality television, reality, you know, people wanting to be famous, these people are giving them, they're giving the consent to us to be able to, and they have to. I mean, legally, we have to.

01:16:50 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 5:

I just know there's a million people in their car screaming, shut up, we love War of the Roses, shut up.

01:16:56 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but he is right, he is right on that. I mean, it's a really good point, and that is a hard, listen, it's a hard thing. We do the dirties, we do the War of the Roses, and a lot of times people will be like, well, wait, if you're going to do all that stuff, talk about your own stuff and spill out your own game. And I think we try to do as best as we possibly can, but there are certain things that we don't talk about because it would hurt others that are around us. Elizabeth, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:17:27 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I just texted in because one of the last callers says that she doesn't like when people tell their spouse. But, I mean, there's 100% chance that both my husband and my mom is going to know whatever the heck is going on.

01:17:39 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 4:

So are those two, but are those two people that you just cannot lie to, or they're your confidants that you tell things to?

01:17:47 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I just, I just can't lie to my mom and my husband and I just trust them with everything. And I tell them everything. Like I call my mom every single day on my way home from work. And obviously I tell my husband everything and he tells me everything. So yeah, I just, if something's happening, my mom and my husband know about it for sure.

01:18:05 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 5:

It's not lying. You just don't have to tell them.

01:18:08 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 3:

See, and my thought process is if I tell the homies something, because all my homies is married, if I tell them something, in my mind, they're going to tell their wives. Like I already know, like I go into it knowing that at least the wives are going to know.

01:18:21 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 4:

But do you tell, when you're in a relationship, do you tell the person you're in a relationship?

01:18:25 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 3:

No, that's just not how I get down.

01:18:27 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:18:28 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm still a trap over here.

01:18:29 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 7:

But I definitely recommend talking to that person like in person, Because I feel like whenever you text people, text messages just come across completely wrong. So definitely just talk to them about it in person.

01:18:41 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 4:

I will say this, that if there's something that is said to me, usually it is going to be said to, and I'm transparent about it. But also, I even tell, like, therapists. Like, I tell, you know, Dennis a lot of stuff. That guy knows a lot of crap that goes on in my life.

01:18:57 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but therapists are paid to not talk.

01:18:59 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, and I think, honestly, if you trust your spouse enough, your spouse is paid to not. I think that's different.

01:19:04 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 5:

I don't interact with your therapist. I interact with your spouse.

01:19:07 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 4:

What's up, B? Initial B wants to be voice disguised?

01:19:11 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:19:12 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi, you're voice disguised. What's going on?

01:19:15 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 2:

So I was chatting with the phone screener that...

01:19:21 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 4:

Are you, like, pulling the phone away from you, or is your phone... Because your phone's, like, all of a sudden, like, wavy for some reason. Talk right into your phone, or if you can, get off speaker, if you're on speaker.

01:19:32 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm not on speaker. Is this any better?

01:19:34 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 4:

Okay, stay right close to your, put your mouth right close to the speaker, or to the thing. Go ahead.

01:19:38 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I have a really good friend's husband who told me a very serious secret about her, and I fear if she found out that I knew the secret, that she would no longer be my friend.

01:19:51 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

Why would he tell you? Why would he tell his wife's friend the secret?

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I have no

01:20:00 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 4:

idea and it's shady what's wait tell us the secret what's the secret i'm unable to share it with other friends because i feel like it would really affect many people's relationship with

01:20:13 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 2:

her okay so do me a favor tell us the secret nobody knows you who you are you're just going by an initial and let us judge he told you what uh that she was having an affair on previous husband okay when he passed away when he when he passed away and he and he told you this what was his reasoning for telling you this i have no idea do you think he was telling you this because he wanted you to know what kind of person she was and think differently of her or do you think he

01:20:50 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 3:

was telling you this because he wanted to have some sort of secret with you and start no i don't

01:20:56 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 4:

there's any malintention behind it or anything i think maybe they were going through a rough time and something might have happened and he just wanted to kind of like get back at her but

01:21:10 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

yeah so he was telling you because he wanted you to not look at her as being the most angel-like

01:21:17 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 3:

angelic person but now i don't trust him in a relationship with my best friend because

01:21:21 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 4:

he's out to hurt her yeah it's a it's a very situation oh yeah that's interesting that's it

01:21:29 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 2:

that's a weird one that he would go to his wife's friend and try to almost disparage her yeah by doing that i uh he's probably trying to sleep with her well that's the part i wonder he wants

01:21:42 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 3:

to have this secret something that bonds them together and that's like the door you know his

01:21:47 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 2:

foot in the door. He was throwing the line into the water and hoping that she bit on something. If she cheated on her husband, then maybe you'll cheat with me. Like maybe opening up the conversation. Yeah, birds of a feather type. Interesting. Alright, Mojo in the Morning.

01:22:05 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live. Mojo Let me take y'all back to the beginning This is it

01:22:34 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo head

01:22:35 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

Let's go

01:22:40 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Alright, it is Mojo in the morning I got a recap coming up here in just a little bit. I want to recap the meeting, the parents. We went to Chicago this weekend to meet our son Jacob's boyfriend's parents and family. And the family hopefully is listening or not listening. I don't know. Well, they actually know what I do for a living. And they were like intrigued by, so you will actually talk about something like this on the radio? And I go, yes, I will. So we'll talk about that coming up here in just a little bit. And we got a bunch of other good topics that are coming up here this hour on the show. This hour on the show, Drake tells everybody that Kendrick Lamar is a bitch. No, wait, hold on. Where is that? No, that was just, I don't know where that came from. Kendrick Lamar is a little shorty. Hold on. No, Megan with I Denied Hooking Up With Him. That's on the way in just a little bit. The second date update is on the way. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date with somebody? And Shannon's vintage underwear. And she said something this morning that I never thought I... She said, I brought them in with me. And she said, I can try them on over my clothes. I'm like, all right, hold on a second. Wait, stop for a second. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I was looking at social media over the weekend and saw that you guys did your Galentine's Day little thing on Friday.

01:24:19 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 3:

It was so fun. It was.

01:24:21 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 2:

And I want to know when the Galentines is going to be happening.

01:24:24 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 3:

Whenever you plan it. We got to set something up. It's called Malentines. Malentines, yes. What is it called? Malentines.

01:24:30 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 2:

What is it? So Malentines. So Galentines, Malentines. What do you mean?

01:24:34 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, Malentines. Like males. Male. Male. Like U-R-A-M-A-L.

01:24:38 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah, I know. I get the name, but okay, so what do you do at a Galentine's party, and what do you do at a...

01:24:45 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 3:

Drink.

01:24:46 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:24:47 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 3:

Take pictures.

01:24:48 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 2:

This is at Lydia's house.

01:24:49 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was smoking hookah. Oh, yeah. I was pretty toasted.

01:24:54 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 2:

Women smoke hookah?

01:24:55 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. There are a ton of girls smoking hookah. Why?

01:24:58 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

I've never seen... I've never... first i've never gone to a believe it or not with all the chaldean friends i have i have never gone to a hookah bar really in my life but i didn't know that women smoke hookah yeah hell yeah they

01:25:09 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 4:

do at least once a week really yeah so i'm proud of that but all right so explain explain this to

01:25:16 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 2:

me you're having this and this was at lydia's house yeah and lydia lives with her mom and dad so where does your dad go during this like does your dad have to stay out all night um so he goes

01:25:27 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 4:

to this place called like the naughty so it's a place that all the men go to on like friday saturdays and sundays and they just sit around smoke like play card games and then he goes and hangs out with his friends like later at night like they have sleepover does he i really didn't want to say that because his friend got really upset with me when i was like oh are you guys gonna have fun at your sleepover and he told my mom he got really offended by that so so your dad

01:25:54 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 2:

wait this is kind of funny so your dad has to leave the house for when you or your mom have like these girls parties and he goes and has slumber parties with with his uh other buddies sleeping yeah that hold on that might be the funniest thing ever i truly love it they're being safe really yeah that to me just i don't know why i don't know why that actually makes

01:26:19 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 4:

me giggle a little bit does he take a change of clothes yes and he sleeps in like the guest bedroom He does this actually, like, often. Really? God, he's going to kill me. How often are you kicking him out of the house? We don't kick him out. He just likes to go out every Friday with his friends.

01:26:34 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 2:

I just want to, like.

01:26:35 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 4:

They live pretty far. They live about an hour and a half away. Oh, that's hard.

01:26:39 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 2:

Especially when it's snowing. I would like to know if your dad would invite me to hang out and slumber party with him sometime.

01:26:45 - 01:26:47 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, if there's no women there, you're not going to have fun.

01:26:49 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

To me, I think I'd have more fun in that than have it at Galentine's party.

01:26:53 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 3:

No, until you saw all of Lydia's friends and cousins dressed in their cute little pajamas, and they're all beautiful.

01:27:02 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 2:

But you're a bunch of girls seeing that. That actually is something fun for you guys to see. Like, I don't know if I want to go. Actually, what we should do is, Kevin, Zach, we should have our mail-in tines or whatever the heck it is. We should have ours, and we should invite Lydia's dad to come with us.

01:27:18 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay, it's at your house then, Mojo. You're planning this. All right. What are the activities?

01:27:22 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

We would sit around and all go Grab each other

01:27:28 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 1:

That stripper bunny Who can crack the cans with her breasts

01:27:32 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

That's Blondie Blondie from the Pink Pony area I personally I will say this to you I don't like guys nights It's weird to say this but I'm not a real Big guys nights type of guy Guys will go I want to have a guys night To me it's just okay Like, I like hanging out with my buddies if we go to an activity, like go to a game or something. I don't necessarily, like, we had that guy's night that one time at my house. At least we were watching a game or something. But if there was no purpose, like a game on television, hanging out with Kevin Zach, to me, is a sausage fest. See, you want to know what's so funny?

01:28:08 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm the opposite. And Megan can attest to this because I like, like, I loved going to this party. And first off, Lydia is the most stellar party planner there is. Really? She does a phenomenal job. And I love just going and drinking and eating and hanging and having nothing on the agenda. And in fact, I heard somebody go, let's play a game. I was like, if we start playing games, I'm out. Because I am not like a game player. Like, I don't like playing card games, game games. Unless it's like board games with my kids. Is it like Bachelorette vibes? I just like hanging out.

01:28:39 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 1:

Is it Bachelorette vibes when it's the Galentines? Like, do the games change and become more adult girl games?

01:28:46 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:28:47 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's boring. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know.

01:28:49 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 3:

It was really fun. And then Lydia's mom came home and crashed. They were trying to do karaoke.

01:28:54 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so, wait, Lydia's mom is not invited either? She's a woman. Does she have to go to her girls' friends' houses and stuff?

01:28:59 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 4:

She went out with friends as well. She did? She came home when Shannon got there.

01:29:03 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 2:

I love her. Having, like, if I, if Luke, Joe, or Jacob are living at my house and Chelsea says, hey, you have to go sleep over at Kev's house tonight, the boys are having a party. I'd be like, go F themselves. I pay the mortgage on this place.

01:29:17 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 4:

It's for one night.

01:29:19 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. And your poor mom has to leave. Like, why is it your mom not just invited? She's got to be the.

01:29:24 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that makes me sad.

01:29:25 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, let her have fun.

01:29:27 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 4:

She brought a friend and came back. She's in my crack every day.

01:29:32 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Your mom is fun. You know what? I'll tell you what. We're inviting her to our Valentine party. Yeah.

01:29:38 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 4:

Love at it.

01:29:39 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 2:

She's coming over with us. Actually, we'd probably have the greatest food ever, too.

01:29:42 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 4:

At that point, then I'm just going to throw my own party again because she's outside.

01:29:45 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 2:

She would take care of us. It is funny. Chelsea actually has encouraged me to have more guys' nights. Like she said to me, you know what? You need to go out and have more guys' nights. I don't want to. I don't think you're missing anything. I don't think it's, yeah. I've walked in on one guys' night before.

01:29:58 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 4:

I was staying the night at my brother's. house he had his friend over it was boys night and i said do you mind if i come over at like two o'clock in the morning yeah i got something to do in toledo i'm gonna leave at like six o'clock in the morning just let me take a nap essentially and i walked into this boys night and it was the most awkward weird yeah like conversation they were like you could sit down and join us we're just we're going through our life right now i was like hard pass love you guys good night they go through their life yeah i think guys don't talk enough so when they get together that

01:30:27 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 2:

one time things can get emotional real fast i i've been invited to golf uh like weekends and stuff and everybody always says that golf weekends are nothing but a bunch of guys like you know hanging out and you know strippers and whatever stuff we play so much golf i get sick of golf like it's honestly i get exhausted all i want to do is go back to the room and sleep like i'm like are we going to sit there and do this i don't know kevin and in zach i don't know if we can pull it together for this do we have to pull it together for valentine's can we do it for like St. Patrick's Day or something?

01:30:58 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 3:

Can we have a guy's night or something? Listen, first off, we are not getting together on Valentine's Day. I don't give a damn what's going on. That's not what I'm doing.

01:31:08 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 2:

Are you afraid you're going to fall in love with me one day? Listen, we're not doing anything for Valentine's Day. When you start talking like this. Let me ask you a question. If you were gay, who would you be gay with?

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, remember this conversation?

01:31:20 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 2:

Who would you be gay with, me or Zach? Which one would be better? I love penises.

01:31:25 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, Zach, come in and talk to Mojo. Just pick one.

01:31:31 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Zach, I want you to come in studio.

01:31:34 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 4:

The way he won't participate is so funny to me. These are my games. Because it's so non-consequential and you refuse to participate. You were gay.

01:31:47 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 2:

Thank God you said dog at the end of the thing, too. All right, so we're going to do a guys' night, but we're going to do it a different way. We're not doing this whole crap like these guys do Where Lydia plans this thing And has like goodie bags and stuff We're just going to get together and smoke and drink I want chicken wings too

01:32:04 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 3:

See I don't want to just be indoors We should have like a scavenger hunt

01:32:09 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 2:

You are into this

01:32:11 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 3:

We should talk for each other's penises What are you talking about Why y'all got to turn asexual Find your penis for a dollar Find your penis for a dollar Find your penis here Imagine like Hangover. We get a bucket list, 10 things. And you can't find Zach in the morning. You know what I mean? We got to go to five bars. Like, we got to like, let's make it a thing.

01:32:33 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 2:

Why don't we do, honestly, I mean, it might be easy just to do Topgolf, but why don't we do like a Vegas thing? We should do like, these girls go and do these parties and they pretend like, you know, oh, we all should be there. And you know what? No, we don't want you to be there. They leave us out of the whole deal. Let's do a Vegas. Let's do like a Vegas trip. We go to Vegas, and then Zach gets lost, and we have to try to find him. Let's do it.

01:32:58 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Shannon, don't you feel so left out right now? I can't believe you guys would do this without us. Have fun. You act like we're not at a time of our lives.

01:33:08 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be amazing.

01:33:09 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 4:

I hope you do. And I hope you don't invite me.

01:33:11 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be Cav, Zach, me, Lydia's mom and dad.

01:33:17 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 4:

i can't wait for you to come over and meet my parents i had such a great time let a total

01:33:24 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 1:

loser on bumble and he's still not calling you back second date update happens at 8 20 on mojo

01:33:30 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

in the morning all right it is mojo in the morning show i gotta tell you guys about my weekend so chelsea and i went to chicago we ended up going to chicago for a purpose my son jacob who is our middle son we love him so much it's so fun to be able just to spend time with him he's smart he's amazing he has found a love in his life and we're so happy about it his boyfriend's name is Chris Chris is awesome we love Chris Chelsea and I actually were joking we're like oh my god we feel like Chris is a connection that like us like another son like he's really a kind-hearted kid I cannot wait for you guys to to meet him I can't wait to meet him in five seconds you'll actually fall in love with him you'll actually think he's more like my son than than jacob is because jacob is a lot like his mom yeah and chris is kind of like me um but we met his his family and it's really an interesting dynamic and i gotta tell you guys it could have been really good it could have been really bad did not know how it was gonna go but i'm gonna i'm gonna be quite honest with you guys nothing could have been more perfect than how it turned out so we decided we were all going to meet out for dinner and jacob's been with chris now for more than a couple years and the reason why we're doing this is not because jacob's getting married because we don't i asked jacob i said do you plan on ever getting married and he's like i don't know like he's not and i said you plan on having kids i don't know you know like all this stuff but i could truly see him doing both or not doing both yeah like you know that's the case

01:35:00 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 1:

happy either way yes it sounds like and i think it will be with chris i really do believe that because i think that these guys are our soulmates so um long story short um chris's family grew up or in lives probably 15 minutes from where i grew up crazy so it's not even that far away like we actually believe it or not my high school um uh the basketball coach varsity basketball coach and the athletic director of the high school that i went to school with is friends with his mom like that's how crazy of a small world it is chris's parents um are divorced and this was an interesting one because when you're planning on meeting the fan the parents and trying to get a party of of you know four or six together because you're trying to do sex now we're trying to do a party of eight because chris's mom is remarried and chris's dad is single but he wanted to bring chris's younger sister who is a high school uh senior so you're like oh okay we got a party of eight it worked out so perfectly because i got a chance to meet obviously a sibling but here's the part that was most interesting to me you know how when couples get divorced and there's a situation where mom ends up with this other guy this other guy is somebody i guess that they knew from you know from their relationship while they were together usually the dynamic is that the divorced couple doesn't get along at all you know what i mean or nine out of ten times you hear those stories they drove together to dinner that's all of them all four all well technically five because the mom the dad biological and the stepfather okay and the sister all drove to together and they showed up walking in together they're all hanging out together the dad and the stepdad are all party buddy buddies with each other that is great the mom's just sitting there like this is crazy dynamic look at this what's going on it was it was unbelievable like the this kid could not have a better healthier relationship than the relationship that he has with his parents and his steps uh stepfather very cool um so we sit down at the table and jacob and chris both told me beforehand you're gonna love my dad and i go which one he goes actually he said to me you're going to love Chris's dad, his biological father, and mom, you're going to love his stepfather because the dynamic of his stepfather is very outgoing. He is actually a interior designer and Chelsea would be interested in asking him questions about that. And his dad is just a Southside Chicagoan like I am or a Westside Chicagoan in his case. And we sat in an arrangement where we all kind of mixed and mingled with each other. And our two boys were just sitting there and both you know when you have when you have a kid who's gay sometimes you don't know the dynamics of do the families like that they're gay or not gay or whatever these kids they're like we are they're so embracing of them you know in in this relationship and um

01:38:00 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 1:

it's really wild because I posted the picture and I said yeah my son Jacob and we met his uh you know uh Chris's family and somebody actually posted and said who's Chris like they didn't know Chris like because they couldn't you know they didn't they maybe thought it was a guy girl relationship or something so we uh we sit down at table and we just start having conversation with each other and by the end of the entire evening I really felt like if these guys ever do decide that they're going to take their relationship past just living together because they're living with each other right now if they decide they're going to get married and if they decide to have kids it will be a situation where i truly believe if we go back to chicago these are the type of people that would open their home to us yeah and if they ever decide to come to detroit at all

01:38:47 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

our mi casa su casa you know have kids they'll probably be together and you guys will spend a

01:38:52 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

lot of time together yeah i hope it was a really cool situation and i i want to throw this out there because i want to ask this question because i was so amazed and i pray that if you ever get a divorce that people can get over things for the kids because they told me something that was really interesting they both I asked both the biological mother and the biological father I said you guys have such a great dynamic what was the reasoning why this dynamic became so great and he said because we put the kids first they didn't do it it wasn't about them it was about the kids and it takes a big person and big people to be able to do something like that but I wanted to throw this out there is there anybody listening who they're in a divorced relationship and their ex is like best friends with your current new boyfriend or new husband or new wife or new girlfriend like is there anybody that's in something like that because when I saw what they had with each other I actually said to Chelsea go if we ever get divorced do you think and we say this to each other which is really bad that we say this would you like like my girlfriend You know what I mean?

01:40:00 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 5:

that's hard isn't that crazy like you gotta you gotta get to a certain point like and beyond what's taking place externally i feel like internally you have to be so comfortable in yourself and where you are that you're even available to operate in that type of space yeah like it's not so much about that person than it is about you at least that's how i feel yeah because i've been in situations where earlier on when jasmine who's josiah's mom first time i met one her boyfriends it was almost like a dick swinging content it was almost like i and i didn't think that i had any like like for her in that sense but it's still like who the hell is this other

01:40:35 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 1:

you're human you're human you still are sitting there and you you compare but i will say it's it's a heck of a lot easier if to mojo's point you think about the kids like that is why you are doing everything as you are it is it's not that hard if you're if your common goal is you're doing

01:40:56 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 4:

this for your kids but what if your common goal is to just become best friends you can gang up on your ex together with a new girl well and i follow a girl i'm sure that happens a lot so i follow a girl on tiktok and she's best friends with her ex-husband's new wife and they gang up on her ex-husband all the time to outnumber him and outrank him and i think it's really adorable

01:41:17 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 6:

and cute that they are that close it yeah it is it's awesome to know that those kids when their parents got divorced that what could have been the messiest of situations has now turned into adult life loving that they have now more people to love them which is to me awesome i don't know if jacob ever will answer my phone call because i'm calling from the radio station number probably you know what's funny is i didn't even ask him for chris's number like i should ask him chelsea probably does i don't have it just because i just don't i didn't ask for it like hey give me chris's number or whatever the deal is has been forwarded uh he's not but i it's funny we actually now have a group chat though with the parents so we all are on a group chat with each other and it actually is kind of like his dad i said his dad's like i really want to come to detroit and go to a concert i'm like done you tell me what concert you want to go to and come and we'll all hang out with each other. Um, and, uh, you know, I was like trying to tell his sister cause his sister's going to go to college and she, she's like, I, you know, telling me all the schools, she's going, you better pick a Michigan school. I'm like, come on, you can, you know, hang out here. Um, what's going on, Rebecca? How are you? How are you? Good. Doing great. It was a great weekend.

01:42:32 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 2:

Good, good. I love that you did that by the way. And, um, I have been, I guess, co-parenting for the past eight, eight years, almost seven and a half years and have a bonus mom that my daughter loves and she has a daughter close in age to my daughter. So, um, I sometimes have her daughter over for sleepovers and I just think that's how it has to be because kids who are growing up in two different households face a whole different dynamic. Um, so I think what we have to do is just make it easier on them and just get along so and you know sometimes go to breakfast together

01:43:13 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 6:

that's beautiful that you do that and you know what i realized is the kids weren't the ones that were at any fault at all so why are you making them feel weird by not trying to blend your

01:43:24 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 2:

families together you know agreed and also it's one of those things if you're still hung up and you have issues with the ex I think you do have to do some um searching to understand what what the animosity is right yep um so yeah that's great first time long time hey Rebecca's on the phone

01:43:47 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 6:

thank you for that call thank you that that's really awesome that you do that that's very healthy what's going on Helen how you doing good how are you good what's what's up with you

01:43:56 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 3:

too? So it's the same kind of co-parenting thing. My ex-husband's wife, Kat, is like one of my best friends. We've actually traveled together, her and I. We do all kids parties, everything together. And I told her one night, I really want the kids to call you mom. I feel like you're their second mom. And people think we're weird, but we absolutely get along. It's wonderful. That's so

01:44:24 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 6:

cool and you guys probably share the one thing in in life and that is that you guys both probably make fun of the the your ex-husband don't you not usually but yeah i think that's cool i think that is so cool that you guys do that uh what's up sarah how you doing hey good morning how are you

01:44:48 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 1:

guys doing we're doing um i just wanted to share i have two two i guess just my kids fathers two baby daddies and my husband um just yesterday my my oldest daughter's father was at my house. I'm like, what are you doing here? Nobody asked for you, you know? And my husband was like, oh, we're about to go work on the car together. And then they were just out there hanging out for about two and a half hours until it got dark outside. They're going to finish up their project today. But I wasn't even included in this matter. They were just like, hey, you want to meet up? So when it really is all for the kids because working on a car is going to help me get my daughter to and from, They really all just band together. They get together. They play basketball together. We do birthday parties. We do cookouts and everything like that together because our main focus is the kids. I want to be there and have all of these moments with my kids just like my kids' dads do. So we make it a point. I'm not best friends with them or anything, but I make it enough to where all of my kids get to see their parents interact together.

01:45:52 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that cool? That's awesome. What do you guys do for holidays? Do you guys still have separate holidays, or do you guys try to do something all together?

01:46:00 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 1:

It's sort of a mix. I have my own family thing that we do. They have their own family things that we do. But truly, we do have, we come together, we give each other presents, gifts like that. We coordinate birthday parties so that way both of our families can show up and we can do a one-and-done thing because birthday parties are a headache.

01:46:17 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 3:

That is an interesting one. You know, you can have your family traditions for Christmas and Easter and all that stuff. But it is right, though. If it is the kid's birthday, you know, why is the kid having to go to three different birthday parties or potentially? There is a gentleman by the name of Wes on the phone. I know only one Wes. Is it the Wes I know?

01:46:35 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Wesley. It is the one and only Wes.

01:46:37 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Wes? Good morning. It says here, Wes on line one disagrees with Mojo. Go ahead. What's going on?

01:46:43 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 2:

I do. I love you, love you, love you. But I disagree with putting the kids first. so putting yourself first and healing through that period of time and finding somebody who loves you back allows for that to happen so i didn't put the kids first i put myself and my process and things going through you know just divorce first found shannon love you hi hi um and and she's been so open to that relationship that's allowed me to co-parent better that's So when I hear that, it kind of rubs a little bit the wrong way because there's really an individual focus first, and then you're capable and your kids benefit from it.

01:47:22 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, and the whole thing, the conversation that Jacob's boyfriend, Chris's family, said was that that's what they said. We just made sure that we kept the kids as our priority, and I think that that was their reasoning with it, and I love that that's the case. i also think that you guys do a great job uh you and shannon do a great job because i see how shannon interacts also with your your ex-wife and it sounds to me like it's just great that's cool

01:47:47 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 2:

because yeah and that's not easy shannon i'm just kidding no we even go to church together

01:47:52 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 3:

yeah that's that's something that we we do i think the beauty the one thing that i loved was i realized this it's going if jacob and chris ever should decide that they're going to get married now there's more people to help pay for the wedding.

01:48:08 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Yes, that is the right perspective.

01:48:11 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 3:

You know, there's now all these people that are going to pay for this thing. I actually was thinking about that. No, I thought about driving home. I'm thinking, I said to Chelsea, I go, now if they get married, like, is Jacob the bride or the groom? Like, what do we do? Like, who pays for this whole thing? At least I know with Joe and Luke, like, I'm only going to pay for the rehearsal dinner. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I'm not paying for the whole thing. so but no it's awesome and you know what i i really i mean this uh to all you guys i really can't wait for you guys to and jacob i said to him you better come back to michigan more often because he loves staying in chicago and he loves chicago but i really know this that with the moment you meet chris you'll be five minutes into it and you'll be like holy crap i like him better

01:48:55 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 2:

than i like jacob i don't know jacob and i are too similar i'll understand but quick question

01:49:01 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

quick answer yeah how does it feel to know that your son has found the one it feels great it does it feels all my kids i want them to just be i want them to be in a relationship be happy you know luke is in college i'd love him to be in like 8 000 relationships because i i think that in college you shouldn't have to just settle down really quick but i uh but i love it i love that they that the kids have met people that uh that they love um i love for jacob because he was a kid you know growing up and not being out for as long as he was like he could he never dated in high school you know what i mean and to me that's sad like not that those relationships matter that much but they matter the experience yeah just being able to do it he went to dances with girls and he was their friend but i we knew and but to know that he's out and he's loving it and it makes me want to go on grinder i want to get on grinder i'm gonna it was a beautiful moment Come on. It was a beautiful one. I know. I always got to put the joke.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 2:

in there all right it's the second date update a mojo in the morning all right second date update

01:50:04 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 1:

why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date with somebody jackson is on with us right now jackson what's going on yeah how could anybody not call you back jackson i i actually saw your entry here and like guy seems like the sweetest guy ever but how many dates have you

01:50:22 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 2:

gone on or how long have you guys known each other well not long just one date you know we I met at a party and went out, and, you know, I thought it went really well. You know, we shared a lot about our lives. I felt there was a real connection there, and then nothing. How old are you? I'm 32.

01:50:44 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So you're at an age where you want to have a relationship. You want to be with somebody, and you thought that Kylie was it. Kylie's on with us right now. We're going to find out what's going on and why she wasn't calling you back. Kylie, will you say hi to Jackson? hey jackson hey that does not sound like a hey jackson how are you sorry i haven't talked to you in a while what's up kylie what's going on not much is this an awkward situation are you purposely not calling him back um yeah yeah what's what's the story let's get right into it what's going on no i mean okay um do you feel comfortable if you don't feel comfortable then you can just say hey i'll move on and we'll just say goodbye

01:51:40 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 3:

no no he he he did deserve to know and i was a coward who didn't text him so i guess i like it This is what we're going to do.

01:51:52 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 1:

So what's going on?

01:51:57 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, he's just not my type. And I kind of knew it, like, right away. But I just, I mean.

01:52:06 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 1:

Like he's not attractive?

01:52:09 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. He is cute and he is sweet. and he he just is like super traditional in what way I mean okay we sit down and we order and like the food comes and before the food comes like he prayed

01:52:35 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 1:

okay

01:52:38 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 3:

which is fine but like I'm not religious at all

01:52:43 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 1:

so it was a lot did he ask you to pray with him or he just prayed by himself

01:52:50 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 3:

um he kind of did that sort of thing where it's like uh let's pray and I just kind of gently closed my eyes and and waited I don't know I mean I don't really know what the protocol is um so he didn't demand it of me I guess but Jackson yeah did you sense that Kylie was

01:53:12 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 1:

uncomfortable with the fact that you wanted to what did you do say grace or something i i really

01:53:18 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 2:

didn't at the time it kind of just came and went by so quickly i didn't think it was a bad thing okay i just kind of did it and we were on with dinner and still having a good time as far as i

01:53:30 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

thought okay was it just that no no he just he came on really strong throughout with just very like traditional ideas you know like he just kept talking about his parents like 35 year old marriage which amazing and like going to church and how he wanted to raise his kids and like I mean it just was it was a lot and that's not me okay so you are not the type of person that

01:54:11 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 1:

is uh religious it sounds like or was it all like religious stuff that you were doing Jackson or was it you just saying this is kind of what I'm looking for like were you trying to say this is how I'm raising my kids like how did that conversation get brought up well we were just

01:54:27 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 2:

really open about like a lot of things that's why I thought it was going well so yeah I mean I talked about my background I kind of talked about what I'm you know looking for in another person ideally what like you know my ideal relationship would be like I mean it just felt naturally we were discussing you know the things that meant a lot to us I felt getting to know each other And it all felt good I mean there was nothing negative about it

01:54:53 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 1:

And you didn't sense that she was uncomfortable At all with Any of this like she seemed like she was smiling happy participating well yeah she was telling me a little better about herself too so i felt it was like kind of a good back and forth if i felt that it was off i mean i wouldn't you

01:55:12 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 8:

wouldn't have gone wondering why why i heard somewhere you know okay um so kylie because i'm never gonna judge you i mean the guy sounds like a nice guy you know you sound like a nice person but this is just something that you're not into as far as you know the saying grace and doing all the rest of that stuff and then also talking about the kids this was that this is not a guy that you would find is an attractive nice guy that would be nice to you you're just so turned off by that that it was like all right i don't want any part of this i mean listen he's great

01:55:49 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 6:

And he's going to be great for someone, but I don't think that, like, we're not aligned. You know, like, he, it was very, he's so polite. He, you know, he's, honestly, he seems like he's obsessed with, like, opening doors and, like, pulling out the chair and all of those things. And someone is going to be, like, so into that. But for me, I was like, did it intimidate you?

01:56:14 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 3:

It sounds like he just, he, it sounds like you were intimidated. Because I feel like those are all very amazing things.

01:56:22 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 5:

He's a gentleman.

01:56:22 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if it's intimidation or just... But I'm trying to figure out, like... I mean, if the praying or the raising your kids a certain way, if that's not your thing, that's not your thing, obviously. That's your choice. But he sounds like he has all of his crap together. But what about the last stuff, Jen? And I'm simply wondering if she has not dated anybody who has ever had all of his spit together. So to her, it's like, whoa, this is like a lot. All at once.

01:56:45 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 5:

She want to be choked and he not giving her that vibe.

01:56:48 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, no. I don't think it has anything to do with niceness. I don't think it has anything to do with having his spit together or not. If you bring up religion that many times in a first date, that's clearly a main priority to you. And if I don't see eye to eye with you on those values, ideals, expectations, whatever it is, that is it's not oh she doesn't know nice men or oh she doesn't know people who have their stuff together it's no we don't see eye to eye on this that's not something i'm looking at and she didn't

01:57:20 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 8:

say that what about the holding what about holding the doors and pulling the chair out to me like that is more than just that is more than god i mean maybe that is a very godly thing to do but if if you know she doesn't like that now i'm thinking to myself you're just you're just not liking a nice guy what's up megan how you doing listener megan hey good morning guys good morning

01:57:40 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to get right into it right now. This woman found a gem. This woman does not know romance, does not know love, because this person clearly puts God first, and if God's first, their whole relationship is just going to be one amazing bloom.

01:58:05 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 8:

Wait, well, let me ask this question. Kylie, are you atheist? atheist or like what is it because if nobody should ever judge a person for what they're doing

01:58:16 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 7:

or for what their beliefs are i'm just it's not really a part of my life i didn't grow up with

01:58:20 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 8:

that okay so it's not that you're atheist it's just that you're just not one that uh wants to talk religion and stuff i listen he does sound like a gem megan i mean he does he you know sounds like a really nice guy but like we said maybe it's just not a gem for uh for her mark

01:58:37 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 2:

what's going on how you doing yes thank you so megan i love that you put um ideals i love when people say ideals for the for the record i love that um no i agree with her 100 percent um so my wife is very religious i she goes to church every sunday with the kids i grew up catholic my mom was jewish um i i think the praying on a first date i guess here's my thing i don't know how you all Matt or if you said it I missed it but I feel like if she says Christian mingle I'm gonna I'm

01:59:12 - 01:59:17 | Speaker 8:

gonna shout you didn't mean you didn't mean on any kind of a religious app like that or did you

01:59:17 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 2:

no we just met at a party okay you met at a party okay I mean I feel like that probably should have been established if it's that I don't know I do think the the the praying on the first date I I don't know. I think that's a bit. You can't say grace. But what about very intimidating?

01:59:38 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

You don't know if people have been through religious trauma. You don't know what people have been through with their walk with God or without God. And to to just say, well, that's a them problem instead of acknowledging they might not have the same relationship or be as comfortable being very public with it as I do. That's not necessarily a negative. And I think the way it's being thrown as a negative is.

02:00:00 - 02:00:31 | Speaker 1:

not fair to her. I think honestly, I think that for, for Jackson, it's actually a good thing that he knows this. I agree. But, but she should say to him, Hey, listen, I'm not into that. I think the idea when she went there and we kind of went right over it, because I think the religious part got us, but the idea that this guy is traditional because he holds a door open for you or pulls a chair out for you to me, honestly, at that point, I don't understand that. I, he's just trying to be a nice guy and if you kylie i don't understand what you're what what would be

02:00:31 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 6:

your i'm negative on that well that's what i said i wonder if she's just not used to that and so it

02:00:36 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 1:

freaked her out yeah like what what is the negative to him doing that it it has felt like

02:00:42 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 4:

pretend like i don't that's not how my the men in my family act and i don't think they act disrespectful i think they just meet me more where i am and not as if i am like a special treasure

02:00:55 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 6:

to be you know but don't you but don't you want somebody who cherishes you and and does treat you

02:01:03 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 4:

that way like and is genuine about it i think that that that's the point is i think a lot of women do want that but i want someone to be on my team and to meet me where i am okay and i guess i

02:01:16 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 6:

just don't understand how that how how he wasn't that i would actually say this to jackson you

02:01:22 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 1:

should have pulled the chair when she tried to sit on it uh see what happens then chelsea what's

02:01:27 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 5:

going on chelsea you want to make a comment hi yeah good morning guys um so i'm i'm really confused and kind of baffled because i feel like i hear this so much lately especially listening to these uh yeah like when when you're dating and ultimately you're dating for an end goal which a lot of people are you talk about certain types of things now it's not like this dude was like oh when we have kids we're going to name our first girl ashley and our wedding is going to be in hawaii he was he was talking about the things that he wants later on in life that you would normally talk about now here's the thing she knew off the rip if there's no chemistry that's understandable she knew that off rip but it seems to me like back in the day people would talk about these things on the first date and a lot of women would find it either endearing or informational to figure out if you guys have the same end goals and the fact that so many people are turned off by just somebody mentioning marriage or mentioning kids or just mentioning it is weird and honestly

02:02:41 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 1:

what you're saying is extremely well said and then here's where it comes into play Like, Kylie probably, when he's trying to contact you, which she says he has tried to contact you for some time now, just send him a text back and say, hey, you know what? I just don't think that we're going to match. Thank you for that.

02:02:56 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 5:

What is so hard to say, you know what? You're great. I had a nice time. It just, if the spark wasn't there, we can be friends. I mean, that's every week. We can be cool. Yeah. And, like, the praying thing, like, I pray all the time. My husband, God is number one for him. I'm still working on my journey. But we pray all the time. my son is the cutest prayer in the world and we pray when we go out in public and the thing is though is that we understand that there are certain people that aren't the same way you don't have to participate all you do is just be respectful of the person who's saying grace at the table and don't be eating and clanking your which she did well right well so that's fine but then she was so turned off by it i don't understand like what the big deal is and if it is that much of a trigger for her she should have said something well that's i mean that's why she didn't reach out

02:03:47 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 3:

to him she didn't cause any conflict she didn't shame him for it she didn't do anything i don't know why we're like kind of attacking her and she's just like i'm not interested in this but we're saying but he's so good because he does all of these things she didn't say that though until

02:04:03 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 1:

right now on the air with us why why why does she not send him a text message and just say but again

02:04:08 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 3:

We can say that every week.

02:04:10 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

I understand that, but that's why I believe that when we do second date updates, there's always usually somebody that you're like, oh, this person's a little carried away. I don't think it's wrong with saying, hey, Kylie, next time you go on a date with somebody you don't like, be nice and just say, hey, I'm not interested. If the guy calls to contact you, he feels, and I don't know how you felt, if you felt like you were overdoing it, Jackson, but maybe you felt like, hey, I just want to have an answer because I thought things went really good. Because how did you guys end the date? Did you guys end the date, Jackson, hug, kiss? What did you do?

02:04:42 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, we kind of just gave like a, you know, a hug and said, you know, see you later. But it still felt okay to me. Like I didn't want to push it too much, but it just felt good.

02:04:56 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

At that point, it's like, you know what? Hey, thanks a lot for the date.

02:05:00 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, you know, when he sends you a text to say, hey, it was really nice, but, you know, I'm thinking I'm going to move on. I think, obviously, we would not have second date update if it was that people were cordial enough to do stuff, like, actually be nice and respond back. I don't think that's religious or anything like that. I mean, it's just common being nice. But I do think that there's something, too. Something set her off, and it might have been that prayer, that the guy just holding the chair open for you or the door open for you, whatever it was.

02:05:27 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 1:

like that's really that bad of a guy don't don't change exactly who you are he being you bro and

02:05:35 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 2:

she still be her you know what i mean like for sure you don't want and she'll find somebody that

02:05:39 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 1:

more matches her i hate when people say energy but energy but just respond back what she's looking

02:05:45 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 2:

for be be nice and that goes for all the people that have texas uh texas to me that's the city or a state isn't it texas they have i've just got to return a bunch of texts today but this is the

02:05:56 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 3:

02:06:23 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:06:26 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's get a look at what's trending right now in the Dirty Out of 30. Shannon, what do you got?

02:06:29 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so Tom Brady made his Super Bowl broadcasting debut. Not debut. Broadcasting debut. I spent a few of those for Fox last night. And one thing that everybody was talking about was that watch. How could you miss that day? It was like a big hunk of gold. I don't even know how to say it. It's by Jacob and Company. It is the caviar terbillion timepiece. It's probably said fancy, tourbillon, timepiece. The price tag on this thing is $740,000. Even if I had $740,000, I'm not spending it on a watch, especially not that one. But I guess he is a watch collector. He is known for his very impressive watch collection.

02:07:11 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 2:

And a Super Bowl ring collector.

02:07:13 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, but I think, I mean, focusing on the watches, back in December, he actually auctioned some of his watches through Sotheby's. the auction included items like a rare yellow rolex from 1969 which sold for over a million bucks and then this other brand i cannot pronounce automare automar she okay that one yes thank you that looks right um the one that he wore in his netflix roast and that one went for 720 grand

02:07:42 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

i didn't honestly look like it was didn't fit him like for some reason i didn't i i thought it

02:07:48 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 1:

It looked like a dress-up watch that you got when I was a kid.

02:07:52 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 2:

It didn't scream luxury. That's a lot of money for a watch. Man, oh, man.

02:07:58 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

We all know the outcome of last night's game, so I feel like I don't need to hash that out again. But lots of celebrities hanging out. Taylor Swift, of course, was there. Jay-Z bringing Blue Ivy and Rumi with him. Bradley Cooper brought his daughter. Lady Gaga was there hanging out with Dochi. Ice Spice sitting right next to Taylor Swift for the second year in a row. The high-end girls, Miles Teller, Pete Davidson was hanging out with the Eagles, Kevin Costner, Nikki Glaser was sitting with Bill Belichick's much, much younger girlfriend, Paul Rudd, and of course, President Donald Trump, the first sitting president.

02:08:30 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that is fascinating.

02:08:32 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

And this morning, I mean, we're kind of noticing it here. Your office might be a little quieter than usual. They call it the Super Bowl flu, and it could cost U.S. businesses upwards of three billion dollars and waste nearly one hundred and eight million working hours. Nearly 23 million Americans are expected to call off today. Super sick Monday is the nickname for today. And they said we're going to be less productive, about 25 percent less productive than normal and do nothing for a cumulative about two hours of the work day. Shout out Jalen Hurts, MVP. Yeah. Connie West has once again left X, deleting his account yesterday. Although, is he back? Because I feel like he's back on, back off, back on, back off. As far as I saw last night, as the Super Bowl was taking place, he was off. Now, mind you, over the past few days, he's been a little erratic with his behavior on X. He's openly called himself a Nazi, made several anti-Semitic remarks, called out his support for Diddy, admitted to hitting women. Yesterday, I saw he wrote, let me start by saying I have hit women before and then went into this tirade about drake and kendrick and cassie and you know said the world sees puff hit cassie kendrick is at the super bowl puff in jail they pick which not gonna say words they want to prop up and who they want to put down and when they want to um he's not women fat i mean it was just a really is he not a fan of

02:10:00 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 4:

Kendrick tirade no he's a fan of Kendrick I mean honestly because who would you choose because you're a huge Kanye guy so if Kanye said even after all of this behavior yeah if Kanye said that he thought that Kendrick's Super Bowl performance was trash I would disagree okay

02:10:20 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 5:

I mean if Kanye does this and I'm not condoning his behavior I'm not condoning his speech obviously I disagree with 99% of the stuff he went on Twitter and said. Yeah. But this happened the last time Kanye hit billionaire status. This is exactly what happened. He does this when he gets a billionaire? Like he just goes, something happens, and something flips in his brain. Can't tell me nothing when he said, wait till I get my money right. The last time he hit a billion, he went on several podcasts, and the same thing happened. The moment that I saw him.

02:10:47 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Maybe they need to stop showing him his bank account.

02:10:49 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 5:

The moment that I saw he partnered with Sean John, I was like, okay, we're about to get something in the coming days. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I was like, it's the tip of the iceberg.

02:10:58 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 1:

And then, like, he started talking about how, yes, he does control his wife. And, like, how he fired and blocked an employee who was uncomfortable with her dress at the Grammys. He'll go into hiding.

02:11:10 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 5:

He'll drop an album. This is a cycle. It's gotten to the point, honestly, where I don't know why people get, like, so mad at him. Because of what he's saying. Obviously. He's repeating things he said four years ago. And I'm saying it is right. But what I'm saying is I'm at the point now where Kanye were just like, okay, go sit in the corner. Like, I'm not enraged.

02:11:27 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 4:

Kanye and Britney are like the same people. If you see somebody that keeps doing the same thing over and over, Britney is just equally as unstable as Kanye is.

02:11:36 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Britney is not going on anti-Semitic rants and platforming white supremacists and talking about abusing people. Like, these are not comparable situations.

02:11:46 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, they both need help. They both need lots of help. And they both haven't put good music out in a while. Why are we still talking about that? Okay.

02:11:53 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 5:

I should not be there. Vultures, too. Had some bangers on there.

02:11:57 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, a Utah man who was caught stealing and sniffing children's socks is facing several charges. How did this make it in the dirt? Tell me. So, again, this is in Utah. An employee at the Rush Funplex called cops after the man was seen stealing little kids' socks and sniffing them. This is wild. So the police were able to search warrant. They found all sorts of stuff in his home. And it was all feet, like kid feet related. What a, just a disgusting story. The man was arrested, has been charged with 10 counts each of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. But you're going to see that story trending today.

02:12:40 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 4:

02:13:06 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 3:

Is this Justin Dipperlake?

02:13:08 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I think you're right. Congratulations to you.

02:13:12 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 3:

02:13:28 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:13:29 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 4:

Thanks so much. We appreciate it. What do you got going on today? Are you having a little, as Shannon called it, the Super Bowl flu? Do you got a little hangover going on right now?

02:13:39 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Unfortunately, I am on my way to class this morning.

02:13:42 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I know. Listen, I'm booing that, too. I swear to you, I'm looking in our building here today. Does the sales department ever work on a Monday? Because if they don't work on Mondays, my contract's up at the end of this year. I will sign with whoever radio station lets me not work on a Monday. So I'll even work on it.

02:14:00 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Super Bowl Monday should be a national holiday.

02:14:02 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

I know. So listen, if WDET is listening, I'll do public radio if I cannot work on a Monday along with the sales department here at the radio station. Congratulations to you. Hang on the phone. and we'll get you set up with these tickets.

02:14:17 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:14:32 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning paying bills, giving you a chance to win $1,000. That is happening in just a little bit, right? We got that coming up. Where's my show sheet? Let's get this money. Did somebody grab my show sheet? Take my show sheet? My show sheet? Shushie? I don't know. I walked out of the studio. Zach was so sweet. I had to go to the bathroom really bad, and then I had a live commercial at the end of the whole thing. So Zach, this is no joke, Zach was prepared to crack.

02:15:00 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 2:

the mic and pretend like he was me doing a Kroger commercial. I would have loved that. It was actually beautiful. At one point, I almost said, you know what? I should stay outside. Just to see how he did. Zach, come in here for a second. Get Zach in here for a second. He did a great job at the Dirty last week. He did. He really did. I want to know how his birthday is. Here's my show sheet. He mixed it up in between my Gordon Chevrolet and my Kroger scripts. Hold on, Zach. Big Zach. Look at that haircut. Not the little one. I would like you to.

02:15:30 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 1:

That's a 30-year-old haircut. Oh, no. I was pre-preparing reading it, and I was, like, struggling already.

02:15:36 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Come on. This is going to be good. Here we go. Here we go.

02:15:41 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 1:

I can barely read, Mojo.

02:15:42 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 2:

Zach, here you go. If I didn't show up back in the studio, what would it have sounded like if I was not here in the studio, I was still in the bathroom, which, by the way, I know one of these days I'm going to get locked out on that door thing. Because we have to use, for those that have normal keys, we have a really high-tech building here. And we have to use our phone as our key card to get in. And sometimes my phone's cell doesn't work very well in this building because it's a very nice, well-built building that Christo's put together for us. Shout out, Christo. All right, so if I don't show back up in the offices here, let me get a little commercial thing here. Get the more Mojo in seconds. Yeah, here you go. Here you go. Here's the, this is what would have happened on the air. Injured in a slip and fall accident? It's not your fault they didn't salt. 1-800-CALL-SAM. More mojo in seconds.

02:16:39 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 1:

Valentine's Day, not sure what to get your valentines? Kroger has made it easy. From dipped strawberries, flowers, candy, cards, balloons, and stuff in Tufts, you have covered. Grab a bottle of wine and go to dinner. Ooh. Let Kroger help you surprise your valentine with all your favorites. Oh, you know where I'm headed? Zach! Zach, you read that with excitement.

02:17:03 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 2:

But you can't laugh and giggle through the whole thing.

02:17:06 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 1:

You were throwing stuff at him. Come on. I laughed through most of mine. That was really good. You gotta sell it.

02:17:15 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 2:

You gotta sell it like you really mean it. It's like, hey. Hold on. Let me imitate. What do you sound like? All right? So this would be you doing the whole thing. And if you're somebody that wants to know Broadcasting 101, I'm a graduate of Spex Howard School of Broadcasting. Yeah. More Mojo in seconds. You want to take your lady out for something nice? Get her a Valentine's gift at Kroger. We're freshest for everyone. I don't know. There we go. There we go. You know, it's got to do something like that. So if I don't make it back, just be prepared. And you have to say, hear me. Because they pay for me to do it.

02:17:53 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:17:54 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 2:

So you've got to say, hey, this is Mojo. and just see if the marketing person from Columbus actually knows

02:18:00 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 1:

it's not, you know?

02:18:03 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 2:

They'll probably buy it the whole time. But that was very tech. Thank you, by the way. Thank you for giving it to me.

02:18:08 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 1:

How was the birthday yesterday? On a Venville. Really? Yeah.

02:18:11 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 2:

Did you have a birthday weekend or something then?

02:18:14 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

No, I mean, yeah. I hung out with family. Didn't really do much. That's sweet. Your sister and your brother-in-law and kids and stuff? Yeah, my brother-in-law was out of town, so it was just me and the kids and my sister. Wait a second. It's just you and the kids. You were babysitting, basically, on your birthday, weren't you? No, no, no. We were hanging out.

02:18:29 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 2:

Did they ever find another babysitter when you moved out or no? No, they trust them now. They trust the kids by themselves? Yeah.

02:18:35 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. You raised them low. I guess.

02:18:37 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 2:

That is awesome. Did you miss it, by the way? Did you go back there and go, so this is what a building with heat feels like? 100%. Poor guy rents a place that literally has the draftiest windows ever.

02:18:50 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 1:

A little bit. It's a little drafty. It's a little chilly.

02:18:52 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 2:

You got to get the plastic like my grandma.

02:18:54 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 1:

We just put that up. Yeah, we're good now, but it's still a little chilly. We got to get you out of there. I know.

02:19:00 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 2:

I still think that we should just do, what do they call it when everybody moves in with each other? Hostel. Hostel. We need to have a show hostel. And I'll rent a room in that show hostel. Like when it's going to snow this week, the last thing in the world I want to do is stay out in the suburbs. I'm down, man. Like driving from West Bloomfield would be bad. I'll rent a room on the days that it's snowy and I'll come and stay with you. But we do a show hostel.

02:19:21 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 1:

Just get a hotel room.

02:19:23 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, he's got to live somewhere, but I'm thinking we do it here.

02:19:27 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

I'll live at the hostel 24-7.

02:19:29 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 2:

But we do a show like where Megan, Kev, you know, KP, Lydia.

02:19:36 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

On Wednesdays, we have board night, like board game night.

02:19:40 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm busy on Wednesdays.

02:19:42 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 1:

All right, Thursdays.

02:19:43 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm down for a sleepover. You know what I want to do? I want to do like, you know how old people have like the Sunnyside place, like Sunnyside villages and West Bloomfield. Like I would love to like have a place like that where it was just a nice little place. We go to the kitchen at night.

02:20:02 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 4:

You guys, it's like a show Golden Girls. It would be so great. We could eat cheesecake.

02:20:07 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 2:

We should buy an old Detroit building. Seriously.

02:20:10 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 4:

There's this cute little building right at the end of the street right here. Before you get under 75. And I always think, oh, I wonder who lives in there. I don't think anybody.

02:20:18 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, what do you think of this idea? What do you like? She doesn't look thrilled.

02:20:21 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 3:

I know, Lydia. I will stay living with Siam. Yeah.

02:20:24 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

That's my answer. You don't like the idea of moving out of your parents' house and moving into a show hostel?

02:20:29 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine all of us living together? I told you guys I'm selfish. Come on. These people just want to get away from their families for a night. Some of us don't have families we want to get away from, and we like being alone. That's a little bit of a stretch for me, I think, Megan. I thought you were on my side.

02:20:45 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

I think it would be so much fun if we all kind of had that as like a little, we're all going to get together and a little slumber party type thing. I agree. Kev agreed, by the way, that a slumber party would be good, which is, by the way, very interesting because usually he does not like to give up his personal space plan your malentines

02:21:01 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

night yeah we'll be sick of each other by the time yeah shannon you wouldn't be down for a sleepover

02:21:07 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 2:

with the team no my wife's not even answered nobody's answering my phone calls so my favorite

02:21:13 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 4:

is when we all go to like vegas or something together but then we get to go to our separate rooms at the end of the night like i love hanging out with you guys all day and like for a good chunk of the night but i just i don't trust any of you back cameras would be out things would be

02:21:28 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

filmed somebody's farting on somebody's face absolutely not i would never sleep where you

02:21:34 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 1:

guys are i'm not a pranker though like i'm not the person that's gonna draw dicks on your face or put your hand like i'm not that warning i'm gonna let you sleep would you put my hand in some like no water i don't play when people sleep like just leave me alone when i sleep we had um

02:21:49 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 2:

back in the day when the show first started we had no budget like we had like four advertisers it was like lucido's art van and like that's it you know what i mean like we had nobody i don't even think we had kroger i don't think kroger liked us back then i think we had you know literally like uh uh i don't know we were running trade for mention spots on the air and they sent us away and we all had to share rooms and it was me it was me chad and spike and eric together no no i'm sorry spike and sarah stayed in the same room because they felt comfortable with each other i don't know or something like that like like it was because they had you know they had worked together and stuff like that so they they felt like it was okay like a man and a woman staying together the guys all then stayed together was chad eric and myself and we just looked at the bed it was one bed it was a king bed and we decided that we would sleep sideways

02:22:45 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 3:

How does that make it better? A kiss of square

02:22:49 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 2:

So he slept sideways And they're like who gets the middle And Chad goes as the producer of the show Chad goes well Mojo he's the host So I had Chad up at the head of the bed Eric at the foot of the bed And the three of us are sitting together And the whole time Eric is at the end of the bed Doing like Bart Simpson impersonations i'm not gonna lie to you guys that was one of the best radio moments ever of my lives because we went to we were in jamaica and we're there in jamaica and the next morning we all wake up and the three of us walk out and eric jokingly grabbed something out of my suitcase and he pulls out one of my shirts and he puts it it was actually very funny we should do this if we do if we do a little slumber party thing it would honestly be funny it would be hysterical because Because then what we do is we then do it all on Instagram or Facebook Live and listeners get to be part of it. And it's kind of like the...

02:23:48 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 4:

I don't want... You guys have seen me sleep. It is not... I don't want anyone else to see that.

02:23:53 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when we stayed overnight when it was a snowstorm one night? Yes. And that was crazy? Yes. That was fun.

02:23:58 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

I do. Yep.

02:23:58 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Chris, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on? Zach, you killed it. That was great, wasn't it? Guy's a broadcaster. He is, Zach. This guy's been in the business for a while. chris don't be messing with him we finally found out that he's 30 years old he's been lying to us about his age did chris did you know that that zach is 30 he turned 30 yesterday we i thought i swear to god when it was his birthday in on friday we're celebrating his birthday i'm like oh this is really nice what is he like 22 i'll take it man i appreciate it i didn't know how old you were hey that's okay by the way you are like literally like the youngest looking 30 year old guy i know am i right in saying that like i when i turned 30 mojo had me kiss a random stranger on the rooftop party did i really did you get that luxury no i got to kiss some mcdonald's you know what that's funny chris i don't remember that but what rooftop party was it was it our last one we had or it was it was before covid I did.

02:25:00 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 3:

It was in July.

02:25:01 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 2:

It was so hot. The Madison, wasn't it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a beautiful. And so it was your birthday, and I think it was like, is there somebody who would give this guy a birthday kiss? And there you were.

02:25:12 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 3:

You're like, you told me to pull out my phone and take a video, and then you're like, you know, it's Mojo with Chris. And you're like, kiss this girl, kiss this girl. And it was like some 55-year-old lady, and I was like, all right. You can kiss all my ass, okay?

02:25:25 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 2:

By the way, how was it for you to kiss a 55-year-old on your 30th birthday? That had to feel good, huh?

02:25:32 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 3:

It was a pleasure. It was great. You don't remember it.

02:25:37 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 2:

You never got, like, cold sores or anything out of the deal, did you?

02:25:40 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

02:25:41 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 3:

No, no. That's good. That's awesome. No cold sores. Thank God.

02:25:44 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Tell me that this show doesn't try to bring people together in any way we can. Thank you, buddy. Thanks for the call. Yeah, anyway. Anyway. Thank you. Do we have any, by the way, any 50-year-olds with cold stores? Let me give the word out, and then I want to get to Megan's story, because I want to find out about Megan and the I denied hooking up with him.

02:26:06 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 5:

With the mood that you're all in, I don't know if this is a good idea.

02:26:09 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's going to be good.

02:26:10 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now. Pay your bills is on.

02:26:15 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's the word that could win you $1,000, and we'll do it 13 times total today. The word is green, G-R-E-E-N. Go enter that word right now up on MojoInTheMorning.com for a shot to win $1,000. Green is the word. And when you enter that word, know that we will call you up to see if you're really paying attention. You got to pick up the phone because that's how we tell you that you won the $1,000. So look for an out-of-area number to call you within like the next hour. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. So, Megan, I always like to hear stories of how things are going in your personal life. What's this story all about?

02:26:55 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 5:

This is not great. I don't know what is going on lately, but I had been talking to somebody for a little bit, and it wasn't that serious. We had gone on, like, a date, and this person tried to hook up, and I was just not interested, and I turned him down. And that person has since gone to our friend group and started talking about me behind my back because I turned them down for sex. And I think this is really wild because, first of all, I have the text message receipts to prove my side of all this. So it's just wild for you to lie in general. And it's just also so immature and unnecessary. Like, I didn't say anything. I didn't do anything. I didn't bring it up to my group of friends and they all brought it up to me and it's really starting to put a huge kind of rift in the middle of my friend group. And I'm not sure a why he's doing this or be like how this is going to affect the friend group or how I should handle it. And

02:27:57 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm super freaking frustrated. Like he's lying. So like you, you very just matter of factly said you were not interested in hooking up with him and how is he twisting it uh that i was desperately

02:28:09 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 5:

begging to sleep with him and like putting all these moves and made him uncomfortable and i have the text messages that show you asking me and me saying no like i don't know what you're getting

02:28:22 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 2:

out of this my dude wait he texts you yes so you have the receipts yes and so why like it would be

02:28:29 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 4:

a crappy thing to do but why don't you just screenshot that and send it to the group because

02:28:33 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 5:

it's gonna like yes that's probably what's going to happen out of all this but why do i even have

02:28:38 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 1:

to do that in the first place oh i agree with you there you think that he was trying to get ahead of it like he maybe he thought that you were gonna say he tried to sleep with me so he's like i'm

02:28:48 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 5:

gonna beat her to the punch and say no that's absolutely what he was trying to do because he got denied he got turned down and got upset about it by the way i find it so weird that somebody

02:28:59 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 2:

would text another person and say i want to what did he what did he say in the text do you want to

02:29:03 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

Come over. It was an 1130 at night text message. Do you want to come over?

02:29:07 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 2:

And so it was just, do you want to come over? It wasn't like, do you want to come over to hook up or whatever?

02:29:11 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 5:

Right. But why is somebody texting me on Wednesday at 1130? Do you want to come over?

02:29:15 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 2:

And so you responded back with?

02:29:18 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 5:

No, thanks. Sorry, it's too late for me to come out.

02:29:20 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 2:

But were there flirty texts before this at all or no?

02:29:23 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 5:

Yes, we were flirty.

02:29:25 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 2:

So you were actually giving him a little flirtation then? I mean, no, not in the denial. out of the blue that uh that this happened like that he would assume that that would even be

02:29:38 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 4:

something that you would be interested in right it's like being physical yeah yeah like that's

02:29:42 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 5:

where he thought it was heading yeah and i was not interested and when i said no then he retaliated

02:29:48 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 2:

in our friend group wow wow and he and you have the text you must think that you clean these

02:29:55 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 5:

things out i think you gotta do it how dumb do you have to be and what were you going to Thank you.

02:30:00 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 6:

accomplish by the way because nothing happened we could have just said nothing happened but instead you were like oh my god she was desperately trying to get with me it's like what were you

02:30:12 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 1:

what was the point what was this guy and you have to see him all the time no thank god but we like

02:30:18 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 6:

we had mutual friends like it's a a friend of one of my best friends boyfriends so it's like you're around i'm around we're going to be in these circles for a while uh-huh i'm not going to see you all the time thank god but like we'll be around each other every once in a while all

02:30:35 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 7:

right so here let's ask the listeners this question if you have these texts if megan has these texts should she share them with everybody just so everybody doesn't know that megan is just sitting there trying to you know to lie about a circumstance that's happening i mean this guy's obviously trying to make you look like the bad person because he feels like he he didn't get Does anybody believe him? Like, are you feeling like people are, like, saying, yeah, bro.

02:30:58 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 1:

Are you on this group text that this is all happening and or somebody's telling you about it? Somebody's telling me about it. I would want to see. I would want screenshots from that conversation because, to Kevin's point, I would want to know how everybody else is responding to it. All of my other, quote-unquote, friends, how are they responding to it?

02:31:13 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 7:

How do you think that they're responding to it? Or do you know?

02:31:16 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 6:

I think that the guys are being guys. I'm like, yeah, dude. So, yeah, bro code. And I think the girls are all, like, rolling their eyes. Like, that's clearly not what happened.

02:31:26 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Amanda, what's up?

02:31:29 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, everyone.

02:31:30 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. What's going on? What do you think Megan should do?

02:31:33 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 4:

Megan, I'm so sorry that this is happening to you because that's disgusting behavior. And you just, I know when I was in this situation, you feel so helpless.

02:31:42 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Like, it's disgusting. It's like middle school crap, isn't it?

02:31:46 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 6:

It does feel very childish. But then it also feels like, well, if I defend myself that like, well, guys, you just need you to believe me. Like, it just makes me feel like no matter what, I'm begging for somebody to be on my side.

02:31:59 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 4:

But I'd rather like if they are. I'm sorry. No, go ahead. I feel like if they are your real friends, I mean, shout out to the ones who are telling you about this, because I think they are real friends for you. But anybody else who's in on this conversation and is not telling this guy how disgusting his behavior is, including the men. And if those guys in your friend group are going along with him, they might be capable of this behavior, too. And that's disgusting. But I'm also hoping in your friend group.

02:32:27 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm also hoping that one of the girls in that friend group says, I talked to Megan about this and she showed me the text and this is not the story. Like, why isn't somebody defending you in there?

02:32:39 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Hey, what's up, Kelly? Hi.

02:32:42 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Oh, my gosh. I was just going to say, this is pitiful. and it's giving real sad boy tinder energy oh yeah i mean but but how do you stop this

02:32:54 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 7:

from happening and stop the the bs rumors and stuff from flying i mean it's all his fault really

02:33:02 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 2:

so i mean all you can do is like talk to your friends and say hey like i feel like they should

02:33:07 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 7:

she's got the ultimate evidence of it by the written word in text messages what what do you think about exposing that like letting everybody see that oh i would at least to my close friends

02:33:20 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 2:

that it's an issue with i actually think she should post it up on our social media thoughts oh i mean it depends what he deserves if he's being that petty about it i wouldn't be

02:33:35 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 7:

against it listen to hold on jenna's on the phone with us she had a guy do this to her when was this

02:33:40 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 5:

jenna did this happen oh this was years ago this would have been um back in college or something like that or high school yeah 2010 probably okay all right 2009 what happened but so pre pre-dating updates um to say the least but yeah so i had actually was a wing woman situation i was just out with my my friend who was interested in a guy and he had roommates and i was just along for the ride and i happened to just get cozy on the couch and i was ready to go to bed and this guy's like hitting on me so we're like whatever you know we had fun that night but then I find out the next you know however week later that he's telling his friends that I came on to him and I'm like what I was ready to go to bed I did not come on to him he actually came over to me so it was just

02:34:28 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 7:

a very why did it matter though like why why would he even bring that up and I yeah why was it even

02:34:34 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 5:

talked about I don't know but I definitely had to clarify that that's not what happened it's

02:34:38 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 7:

You know what it is? It's a guy's ego. And once a guy's ego is bruised, Gail, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:34:45 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning, Megan. I am going to tell you, if he has the balls enough to air out all of this crap, then you need to stick up for yourself. And no matter how gross it is.

02:35:00 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 1:

air out all those types of messages in that group chat because if he wants to be like that then no because that's not even okay because that right there is damaging your character to your front and if he wants to continue to damage your character for a why then you need to set that straight sweetheart yeah related birthday back uh by the way are you a 50 year old woman that

02:35:22 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 2:

would like to kiss him we're trying to find a 50 year old woman to kiss him there no real quick um i think you're right if you're going to talk about if you if you're willing to talk about it And I know that we're not saying names on the radio, but obviously your friends, you know, listen and stuff. Yeah. I think now that they know you got their seats, if I'm one of your friends, I'm going, I want to see this. I want to see the text message because I want to, I want to be able to do this. And then I think the friends will be the ones that will go, you know what? We don't believe you. So, and honestly, I think you're smart. I think bringing it up on the air is all you need to do.

02:35:49 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 3:

I love this.

02:35:50 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:35:51 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

It's my pedigree moment. Yeah. Yeah. But you know what? Deserve. I just, I don't understand the immaturness of like, just airing out the business because you got denied, my dude.

02:36:03 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:36:04 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 3:

Just chill out.

02:36:05 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 2:

I think it would be better. He'd get more sympathy if he said, you know, I really made a move on Megan and I made a mistake because she's not feeling it that way. And then it goes, oh, okay, this guy's actually kind of cute. You know, like he was at least trying.

02:36:16 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

And I could be the bad guy. They'd be like, they don't know what she's missing, bro.

02:36:20 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Although if it's the guy that you think it is. You know what's funny is that as a guy, I always never knew when to ask the girl, because I had a lot of girlfriends, when do you ask, like, how do you get the girl to cross that friendship line? Like, I always never knew, and so I, like, there were so many girls that I became friends with over the years, especially, you know, being like a younger guy, like an 18-year-old guy, that I never knew. I wonder if she would kiss me, and I would just sit there and think about it all the time, and never do it. And then you find out later that there's a girl that.

02:36:53 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 3:

At your high school reunion, she was infatuated with you. There was a guy last year who missed it, and he should have asked, and he didn't. And now he avoids me and our friend group every time I'm around. Why? It just breaks my heart.

02:37:04 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think he avoids you?

02:37:06 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 3:

Because he got, so this was a guy I kind of met. We had a fling, and it was like, we did not know each other very well, but we just clicked and had a really great time. and at some point in the night I was introduced to somebody else and who actually works in our industry and I was just chatting genuine business with this other man and the dude was very drunk that I had hit it off with and got very jealous and left. And if he would have just stuck around we could have had like the best night. Have you ever reached back out to him? No, because I was supposed to see him the next day and he didn't show up and everybody said he was avoiding me. And I'm like, you freaking idiot. We could have had the best time. Best time. If you would have just talked

02:37:51 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to hear my sister talking about giving the guy the best time But I just want you to know that

02:37:55 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

It was probably genuinely one of the most Romantic cute nights of my life And I like I told Shannon about like the thing that we did Under the subway And like how this is Am I allowed to say that out loud? No no no

02:38:11 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 2:

The thing under the subway

02:38:12 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 3:

And it was like truly a movie moment And I was like oh my god this is going to be the best weekend ever The best weekend ever And then he totally just avoided me the rest of the weekend. I was so bummed.

02:38:23 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 2:

And then there's that guy that invites you over at 11 o'clock at night on a Wednesday. What the hell is he thinking? I love Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan, Megan. Hey, we're going to give you a chance to win some more tickets. Kendrick and SZA tickets, we're doing those early in the morning this week. 02:39:27 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:39:29 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 2:

I have a very special guest in studio, our good friend Mike Young. Yeah. We're going to talk to him in a second after Shannon finishes with the Dirty Report. but he's got a premiere of a movie that he put out at our good friends, the imagine theater. So we're going to talk about that and all the imagines are going to be showing this thing. So this is actually pretty cool. So there's a, a very cool movie with a local tie and Shannon will do that right after the dirty. What's going on?

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, a lip reader is revealing what Taylor.

02:40:00 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 2:

Swift said after she got booed at the Super Bowl last night did you guys see that moment by the way no there was like something happening on the field too so I think that she wasn't sure if they were booing for what was happening on the field or if they were booing her because she was shown on the jumbotron So she's looking very stunned, and she looks like she gives a major side-eye to Ice Spice. I think who was sitting right next to her at the time, if I'm not mistaken. And they said that she said, uh, what is going on? She said, uh, what, uh, what is going on? like she didn't know is it for me or is it because of what's happening down there with all the guys

02:40:52 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 3:

they by the way being the fans that were in that stadium are philadelphia eagles fans i think it's mostly eagles fans right they boo santa claus like they literally like beat up santa claus in their own stadiums so it could be for a bunch of reasons but i will tell you she definitely has faced backlash this morning if you look on social media at how bad travis kelsey terris kelsey didn't have one reception in the entire first half of that game. It's the first time ever in his career. And if you saw him walking off at the end of the game, and they showed this like three or four times in the postgame of Fox when they were doing the Lombardi trophy, he looks so unhealthy and sad. He looked drained. It's unreal. He didn't get an IV. Did anybody have a reception

02:41:39 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 2:

in the first half?

02:41:41 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 3:

How many yards did Mahomes have in the first half? He had an interception He threw more to the Eagles players than he did to his own.

02:41:50 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, and he was getting dragged Friday night, I think it was Thursday night, Friday night for going out on a double date with Taylor and Brittany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes. And people were like, okay, wait, why are you out in about two nights before the Super Bowl? I mean, it was a rough weekend for him. Defense wins championships, man.

02:42:10 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 3:

They say that every time, and you saw whose defense showed up. But I also think that the Chiefs' defense wasn't horrible. Like, I don't think that their defense— They got 44 put on them in a Super Bowl. But a lot of it was they were throwing interceptions to guys and giving them a short field. I think that there was— That's true, too. I mean, I think, honestly, I think both teams' defenses were great. I think that the offense for the Chiefs was just atrocious.

02:42:32 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, regardless, it was Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts who was named Super Bowl MVP.

02:42:36 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 1:

Personally, myself, I've just been able to use every experience and learn from it. The good, the bad, all of it, using it as fuel to pursue my own greatness. And I think I couldn't do any of these things without the guys around me. You know, we had a special group this year. We were able to learn from the past and get some nice new pieces and get over that hump.

02:43:01 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 2:

Kendrick and his flare jeans were just, he was great. Up on that stage for about 13 minutes.

02:43:08 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 3:

I noticed that lowercase A chain

02:43:13 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 2:

Which of course was for A minor So many disses

02:43:17 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 3:

I never knew Kendrick Lamar was a shorty like this I had no clue He's like so little I want to put him in my pocket He's so tiny He's like 5'0 He is not 5'5 There is no way He's like remember when Kevin Hart said that He would lie on his Wikipedia and make himself look taller to people

02:43:38 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Kevin Hart is like one inch taller than me, and I'm five feet even.

02:43:40 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 3:

Kevin Hart is just a little fella, and I'm telling you, I think that Kendrick Lamar is right there. I think they stay in eye to eye. We should actually, as him being an Eagles fan, and he was there at the game, we should have had those two next to him. Oh, side by side, back to back. See if there are any pictures floating around. Google it and see Kevin Hart and Kendrick Lamar. I'm sure there are. They meet up with each other at the game.

02:43:59 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 2:

President Donald Trump has ruled out deporting Prince Harry. Harry's immigration status is the subject of litigation in D.C. right now, with some people alleging that he may have covered up some past illegal drug use that could have disqualified him from obtaining a U.S. visa. This goes back, like, a while, by the way. But the president telling the New York Post over the weekend that he is not interested in throwing Harry out of the country, he actually said, I will leave him alone. He's got enough problems with his wife. She's terrible. Oh, God. And then he went on to praise William, saying, I think William is a great young man.

02:44:33 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 3:

They cheered him last night, by the way. Did you see that during the National Anthem? Oh, yeah.

02:44:37 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He was going crazy for me.

02:44:38 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 3:

I tell you, I cannot believe a sitting president has never gone to a Super Bowl until last night. And I get that it's the security thing. Here's a guy who's had, what, three attempts on his life at one point or another? If you're this guy that they want to take out, they're talking about Iraq or whatever, they wanted to use a missile to shoot down one of his planes. are you going to a Super Bowl, like, in front of all those people? I don't know. I feel like Trump, I feel like he infallible, though. Like, he can't be cute. Really?

02:45:08 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 4:

That's how I feel like he is.

02:45:09 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I will tell you this. If I was somebody at that game, I would either think one of two ways. I would think, I got to get the hell out of here because this is a place that's a target. Or I would think, this is the safest place in the world because he's here, right?

02:45:21 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what it means. A lot of people are speculating amid rumors that there's some trouble in their marriage anyway. But did you see what Haley Bieber posted on social media over the weekend? No. So she, this was Saturday, I think. And she uploaded a carousel of all kinds of different photos. There were some mirror selfies in there. But in one of the slides, she shared a quote that reads, I am imperfect. I have been rejected. I still have purpose. I don't know what it means. I'm just throwing that out there.

02:45:51 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 3:

What do we assume that that is? Are they having trouble in their marriage? Let's go to our Bieber insider, Lydia. I thought she's our Taylor Swift.

02:46:03 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 2:

No, are you kidding me? She's a huge Belieber.

02:46:06 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Lydia, what are your thoughts on this?

02:46:09 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm double-sided here. Don't ask me my opinion on both of them at the same time.

02:46:14 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 3:

Wait, Taylor or Bieber or Bieber and his... Haley. Haley.

02:46:20 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 1:

I don't stand with Haley Bieber at all.

02:46:22 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you don't like her, huh?

02:46:23 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:46:24 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know what it is. Are you salty? I'm not salty.

02:46:28 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 1:

This is just facts what I'm about to say. And some people might be mad at me for it. But when I would stand outside Justin Bieber's hotels, yes, I did that. She would be standing outside there, too.

02:46:38 - 02:46:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Yeah.

02:46:39 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 1:

Selena Gomez would be inside the hotels with him. So she's a weirdo.

02:46:43 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you're calling yourself a weirdo for doing that?

02:46:46 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 1:

I was a weirdo, but I didn't end up marrying him and then acting like I didn't stand outside. Here's my mic, and I have it on. And I'm telling you guys that I stood outside.

02:46:52 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 3:

I didn't realize that you would stand outside of Bieber's hotel. If he invited you in, would you go in?

02:46:59 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:46:59 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 3:

Hell, yes, she would.

02:47:00 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 1:

No. I would not have done that.

02:47:03 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Man, your poor dad had to, like, leave the house to go have a sleepover with his guy buddies.

02:47:08 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 1:

And I was going to have a sleepover with Justin Bieber.

02:47:10 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 4:

And his daughter's out hanging out in front of hotels. I got to be honest real quick, though. This whole Haley Bieber, Justin Bieber situation, I'm kind of over it like the Megan Fox Machine Gun Kelly. Like, I'm tired of him about them, bro.

02:47:23 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of Machine Gun Kelly, he was in Taylor Swift's suite last night. How random is that?

02:47:29 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Right? Did you see him in there? I agree with Kev. I feel like some of the stories are circulating too much, you know? Well, don't blame me. It's not you. No, not you. It's just the gossip world.

02:47:39 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to check my duties before I do them with you, and you guys tell me yes or no to them. Okay, and real quick, this is a trending story this morning. The Boy Scouts of America officially changed their name to Scouts America over the weekend in an attempt to meet the evolving needs of young people. The president and CEO of Scouts America, no longer the Boy Scouts, said there was some backlash to the name change when it was revealed last May. However, there was a small spike in membership after it was announced as well.

02:48:06 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 3:

But it is official as of this weekend. Do you think all the Girl Scouts follow suit now and call themselves the Scouts?

02:48:10 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 2:

No, they didn't have a problem with membership.

02:48:13 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting to me that they both

02:48:15 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 2:

wouldn't just be Scouts America at this point. I'm kind of confused about that. Am I missing something?

02:48:20 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 3:

Although I kind of like the idea of having girls, the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and stuff like that. I don't think that there's anything, you know?

02:48:25 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 4:

Why don't we got to mess with stuff?

02:48:27 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 2:

They were just trying to stay open. By the way, all you guys, your cookies are in. I'll deliver them this week.

02:48:31 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I do say this. No offense to anybody that was a Boy Scout. Their popcorn sucks. And the cookies are way better as far as trying to, like, raise money for funds. Have you ever bought popcorn from a Boy Scout before?

02:48:45 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't participate in any Boy Scout, Girl Scout. You didn't buy anything from Lucy? No. I don't buy anything from anybody, kids. You are a cheap person, dick. It ain't got nothing to do with money. I just don't operate like this.

02:48:55 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 3:

If Josiah's selling anything for his school,

02:48:56 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Josiah don't sell that stuff, neither. He's trying to raise money. We will buy from them.

02:49:00 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 3:

That's unloyal.

02:49:01 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 4:

And look, I'll throw Lucy a cash out. It ain't got to be for the cookies.

02:49:04 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 2:

No, for all of today's Dirty Cut to Fun and the podcast, on the iHeartRadio app or Mojo in the Morning.com. Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:49:19 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea why this bed came up as my out of this is actually kind of appropriate, though. This is good because in studio with us right now is a very funny man, but also a personal friend of personal friends. You know, you know, you get those calls from time to time. You'll get those calls and it will usually be, hey, can you do me a favor? And I'm like, oh, crap. What did this favor cost me? And then you realize I'm making good for those Lions tickets that I gave you. I'm like, all right, well, you know what? I did have some good Lions tickets, so those are actually good. But, no, our friends from the Imagine Theaters, good friends over there, would like us to promote.

02:50:00 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 2:

And be promoted, plus my good friend Jeff Sack was good friends with Jeff Sack was personal friends. There is a movie release from a Detroit native, actually a Lathrop grad, Southfield Lathrop grad. He is a very funny guy, national superstar comedian. Mike Young is in the studio with us. Mike has toured with the likes of Chappelle and Rogan and Sebastian and Bob Saget back in the day, God rest his soul. But you now have put everything together in movie form and now have a movie called Stealing Jokes, which is premiering at the Imagine Theater. You're going to be doing a premiere at the Birmingham 8 Theater.

02:50:45 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm excited.

02:50:46 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 2:

And nervous. First off, I have to ask you this question. As a local guy growing up in this area, and obviously making it in comedy, and you've played every comedy place here in town, but to know that you're putting a movie together and then probably the movie theater that you used to go and see movies with your friends growing up.

02:51:06 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 1:

It is a full circle crazy moment. Yeah. I mean, I grew up in Southfield, so we did a lot more in Southfield. Star Southfield. Yeah. Star Southfield. R.I.P.

02:51:15 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 2:

Had the best nachos ever at a movie theater. I used to eat nachos at that place.

02:51:20 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 1:

It's still standing. It was the last time they ever used real cheese on a nacho. True. That was the last place.

02:51:26 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

02:51:26 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, before they got us that string cheese or whatever that cheese was. But, yeah, man, it feels great. You know, I'm super grateful to be back here. We shot Stealing Jokes in Detroit. Where? I mean, we shot it all over. Downtown, Riverfront. We shot some scenes in the OCM building at Campus Martius. Yeah, so we kept it all Detroit-centric. and it's just it's a fun movie and it's you know it's my fourth film but it's my most fun movie and as a comedian you know we travel the country and every comedian from chris rock to bill burr has a story about getting stiffed at a comedy club and so in my mind and i opened for chapelle and i used to kind of like count the room and go man dave's probably getting a hundred thousand i'm getting five hundred dollars and in my little hood mind i was like i gotta make a movie about robbing a comedy club because every comic has been stiffed on his on his money everyone's been told i got your money we'll pay you monday for some reason comedians even though we feel like we're doing like god's work here making people laugh they are looked upon as like we'll pay you

02:52:33 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 2:

later yeah like we've been like the lowest rung if you called the cops and told them mark ridley who by the way is not the guy that will not pay you mark ridley right mark pace we had one discrepancy but if you called the royal oak police and said mark ridley owes me money the guy you'd have your hat on backwards going what the hell's going on i'd look bad yeah but no this is

02:52:57 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 1:

the comics you know themselves they take it upon themselves they don't go to the police they get stiffed at a club they get bumped by like a superstar the guy decides not to pay him on a big night and things go awry and they end up sort of accidentally robbing the club and michael rapaport he's the club owner so he's a gangster yeah and he's hilarious and so he's like you need to get me my money back and so they go on this crazy journey and you know eventually got to get

02:53:25 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 2:

him his money back here's the funny thing this is wild about mike mike was able to convince dan gilbert who i know has got some deep pockets but to give money up to him to produce this movie so dan's actually one of your dan is my producing partner yeah well because dan is well first of all

02:53:42 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

he's a hilarious i don't know if people know but dan's actually super funny and he's he loves comedy and so i was making this movie i was getting ready to make this movie in la no joke and i was going down the line with one of these shady la producers and i wasn't having a good time and this guy was just cutting every corner and i called dan who had hired me to write a movie called adam 10 years back and i said hey man if you still want to make movies in detroit i have this script i'm having a bad time in la i'll bring the whole thing to detroit he goes send me the script i send the script and a week later i'm not kidding i get a text message basically which was like basically my deal memo on a text 50 in i'm up i'm all in on the money yeah if i'm first money out so i think so i'm thinking that he thinks that i'm somebody else i'm thinking maybe he thinks i'm a shoe company maybe i'm a real estate investor i'm like there's no way that i'm getting to make this movie and he's all in and it turned out that he was he was totally that's great and we made the deal and we got to come back to detroit and you know i casted it with some real comedians that can act yeah jeff dieh haha davis who's a detroit guy shout out haha he kills it he's literally he lights it up in this movie does everybody want to be in a movie like this

02:55:00 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 2:

because they've had that experience of getting stiffed by a comedy club. It's so funny. I've been in radio for a long time, and way back when on this show, but also on the shows that I did in other markets, I loved having comedians in. Like, to me, it was the greatest thing. Every time I would have a comedian in, the comedy club guy would show up here, and you'd be there doing your thing. And I'd talk to the comedian afterwards, and I could sense something was going on. And one time I actually asked, it might have been Kathleen Madigan or something like that, And I asked the question, and I go, man, everybody seems so, like, weird. And they go, yeah, that guy's an ass. You know, tell me the stories. And I'm like, I never realized this. Comedy club owners are a little shady.

02:55:38 - 02:55:43 | Speaker 1:

They can be. There's a couple good owners, but there's, like, a whole shady vibe going on.

02:55:43 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 2:

Craig Gass told me a story one time about the guy. It was a guy, and it wasn't local, but it was, like, Cleveland or something like that. But the guy owed him money, and Craig had to go to his driveway every single day. Like, it was a mafia kind of thing, you know?

02:55:57 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 1:

This has happened. Like, so, like, to your point, every comic I ask to do a little testimonial, so it's obviously a real movie. But I thought it would be cool to have a bunch of comedians within the movie give little mini testimonials kind of throughout the movie. And so Sebastian's in it and Paul Verzi. So everybody I asked had a little mini story about getting stiffed at a comedy club. And I was going to say, Sebastian's, you know, he kicks off the movie with this ridiculous story that really happened where he's like, They tried to pay me with a check that was made out of cardboard. He goes, I felt that it didn't even feel real. He goes, and the edges, he goes, they didn't even try to use a scissors. He goes, I took it to the bank, and the bank goes, this is fraud. He goes, yeah, I know. I was just trying to make sure. He goes, I got scammed. And so everybody, I mean, Paul Verzi had a story where they tried to pay him in vintage coins because they had no cash. Every comic has had a story about getting stiffed. And so this is like my ode to any artist who's ever been stiff. To any artist that felt like they were like putting everything into something, getting stiffed. And I was like, I got to make this movie. And that's, we got it made. The movie's tomorrow, right? The screening's tomorrow? Screening's tomorrow at the Imagine. And it's not just a screening, right? No, it's like an event. we're doing comedy there myself so luke null who plays this kid donnie hefner he's like a youtube star that stole a joke and got famous he's gonna do some comedy before the movie and this kid's like i had matt rife auditioned and again and this kid luke null who was on snl for one year i had never heard of him i'd never seen him before i'm like dude i don't know who you are you got the part period he was next level funny and so he's performing dustin ibarra who's in a bunch of movies he's doing a show that's great and then i'll do a little comedy and so we're gonna just do some comedy show the movie have an event and we're also giving money to nf uh which is one of dan's charities yeah and so it's a charity event which is you listen it's it's funny because i can't charge my crew and my cast who are coming yeah but public anyone can come and give and donate if they want and we're just gonna fill the house and have a fun night we all know

02:58:16 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 2:

dan and jen lost nick too to nf and nick man he'll be there with you in spirit he loved comedy

02:58:24 - 02:59:23 | Speaker 1:

bro that guy was one of the funniest dudes ever i i i hooked nick up i almost got banned from the comedy store because of nick yeah nick's 20 years old he's not of age to go to a comedy club but i'm just like doing a favor and he's like you gotta get me into the comedy store me and my boys are coming so i make a call to the manager of the comedy store i don't tell him who it is i just say my buddy's son they're i lie i say they're all 21 meanwhile nick was famous already from picking the lottery pick on television right yeah the club manager at the comedy store is from cleveland oh no he goes mike if you ever try to get underage kids in here again you'll never perform at the comedy store but and they also sat in the front row and they all looked about 11 years old and the first comedian that came out is joe rogan and joe rogan looks down he goes what are you guys nine years old and he buried him and nick probably loved every second of it he loved it was

02:59:23 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 2:

like a highlight of his of his year for sure nick is oh god love that kid man he's uh he's with us in spirit in this movie so again stealing jokes uh opportunity to go see it imagine uh 7 p.m

02:59:36 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 1:

Imagine, Birmingham 8 tomorrow, come on through we'll pack the house, we might have to move a couple other movies out of their theaters but let's do it

02:59:45 - 03:00:01 | Speaker 2:

Mike Young, it's good to have you in here if you hang out for a second, Shannon's going to talk about her panties so, I'm in, alright WQI Detroit WSNX, Mesquite and Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo Three great stations One stupid show.

03:00:02 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

03:00:06 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning, as promised. Shannon and her panties. But these are not any old panties. What kind of panties are these?

03:00:15 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 3:

So my girlfriend gave me these as a gift. And this is just how we are. Megan, you've met my group of friends. Like, we're, you know, this is us. This is very us. so my girlfriend buys me this pair of underwear I'm not gonna say panties like you say it because it creeps me out like sexy well okay so they're from free people and if any of the girls listening know the store free people or online free people I'm trying it's like a boho-y kind of store like i have a lot of stuff that's free people it's just like a very specific style and so um wes and my other girlfriends have been roasting her over the these panties because why and now there's a girl there's a girl on instagram who did this whole thing about how these panties give great depression vibes now the one that the girl on instagram had are like potato sack tan okay

03:01:16 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 2:

real quick for one second friends by friends underwear like girls

03:01:23 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 3:

it's like a new it was like a newlywed thing you know and we're still talking about this and then I saw the Instagram that was like the reel or whatever that was trending so they're supposed to be you're supposed to wear them with like like a cute little like bralette or a tank top or whatever

03:01:41 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 1:

let's see these drawers

03:01:42 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 3:

but this is that

03:01:43 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh my goodness Those look rough

03:01:46 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

You should be in cabaret

03:01:48 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 1:

They look like they went to Coachella

03:01:49 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay Liza Minnelli Wes is like what are you supposed to do with these I'm like well wear them to bed And he's like I think that it would do like the opposite

03:01:59 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 2:

You're trying them on

03:02:01 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god Mary Todd Lincoln Welcome

03:02:03 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 2:

It's like petticoat

03:02:06 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 3:

It's like what a baby doll has under her dress

03:02:12 - 03:02:17 | Speaker 2:

So those are not things that you would wear over an outfit. Like, that's not. Oh, no.

03:02:18 - 03:02:19 | Speaker 3:

The underwear.

03:02:19 - 03:02:23 | Speaker 2:

That's actually supposed to be, like, something that you wear under your dress.

03:02:23 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what those are?

03:02:25 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 2:

Are they cotton?

03:02:25 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

Those are the shirts you used to get in a little plastic wrap from Limited 2 that, like, had the little triangular, like, pyramid things. And they were, like, American Girl doll size, and you put it on and it fit you. Yeah. That's what these look like.

03:02:39 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 2:

I got to be honest. It's kind of a letdown, Kev.

03:02:42 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 1:

I didn't think it was going to look like that.

03:02:44 - 03:02:46 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, those things look like Wes.

03:02:46 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 3:

I told you. Why did she buy them for you? He was like, merr. Yeah. Because she thought they were cute.

03:02:52 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Those make you soft. That gives you the shrivels. Okay.

03:02:54 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, she bought these for you as something that she wanted you to wear with Wes as a newlywed gift?

03:03:01 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 3:

Yes, and so that's the debate here.

03:03:03 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 2:

That looks like Handmaid's Tale-ish, like, you know.

03:03:06 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 3:

No, it's straight up, you should be on Cabaret.

03:03:09 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy.

03:03:09 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 3:

That's what they wear. The chorus all wears that.

03:03:12 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 1:

Do they come with a top or it's just the bottoms? No.

03:03:15 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 3:

No.

03:03:15 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Let me fill them. Let me see them real quick.

03:03:17 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 3:

So the girl on Instagram's question was, can you really wear this garment and still look effable?

03:03:25 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Are there any women who have, like, a really unflattering pair of underwear that they actually turn their guys on with? Like, to me, like, you always hear a pair.

03:03:37 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 3:

I've never worn them just with nothing underneath, so don't feel weird.

03:03:41 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 2:

These are rough.

03:03:43 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 3:

They itch.

03:03:45 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm already itching. I, by the way, am a very devoted man. I touch no other woman's panties but my wife's. Touch the drawers. I don't touch my drawers. I'm not touching my drawers. These aren't even drawers. These are made out of the same thing that a sponge is made out of. Right, exactly. It's a squirm, Dan. By the way, it's super absorbent for that time of the month. So I want to know, because a buddy of mine says that it turns him on when his wife wears her period panties, and I'm like, her period panties, but they're more like granny panty-ish. Like, you know how panties are kind of like, they're like sexy, like, you know, up the ass type things, you know what I mean? Like boy shorts. Yeah, or like, but these are like full on, like cover up every bit, look, you know, looks like something. I don't know.

03:04:32 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 3:

He's keeping the mystery going.

03:04:34 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think it's also the idea that she's, you know, that time of the month, and he's like, for some reason, thinks that that's hot. That, like, gets him going. Yeah. You've been married too long. Are we? Lydia, does the promotions department have a problem if we give away Shannon's? No, I don't want to let Cody get with legal really quick. Well, you know that that will come about. I'm sorry, we cannot give it away. We have to check with legal first. You've never worn these at all?

03:05:00 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 1:

at all like uh without actually no i really truly not bring them in okay i would you would i would

03:05:08 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 2:

they're very comfortable i i think you can make them hot they're very comfortable but the question is like is a man or a woman whatever your preference is gonna find that sex oh i thought

03:05:19 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 1:

thank god this is at this time of the morning and there are no parents that are listening with children in the car also a man can find anything sexy that is true that is so true you can literally tape a sponge to your to your body and we'll be fine i don't know why it turns me on but this does and chelsea's gonna hate me for saying this thing but it turns me on when i just mistakenly pull the drawer open of her panty drawer like if i just like literally like oh oh that's not my drawer like because you know we have our our stuff and you know our our dresser you each have your own drawers yeah and it's like you pull open you

03:05:57 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's your subconscious work.

03:05:59 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 1:

But then I start feeling creepy, even if it's my own wife. And I'm like going, oh, I just want to kind of like, you kind of like get excited. Do you ever do her laundry? And like put away her laundry? I do. But I am very good about making sure I separate her Lululemons and all the rest of that stuff. Like I've screwed up too many things. Like I didn't know you weren't supposed to put.

03:06:20 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Lululemon in the dryer.

03:06:21 - 03:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, or no, not the dryer, but put fabric softener and stuff. Like I've screwed up stuff like that. and, you know, did you put fabric softener with this? But then, but there's something about it. There's something about it. I think I think underwear and all that stuff is hot. Like, I like that. To his point, it's the subconscious. You see them in it just by holding the item. Exactly. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. You see ass when you hold in drawers. Right. Exactly. Texter here is 734 says he wants to know if he could have shins. No.

03:06:54 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 2:

But you don't even have to finish the sentence. No. If you want to buy me a pair, I'll wear them and sell them back to you.

03:06:59 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 1:

Do we have any of them?

03:07:01 - 03:07:03 | Speaker 2:

That was Megan. No, that was Shannon.

03:07:03 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 1:

You know what we should do, Lydia? We should see if any of the misfits want to compete for a contest.

03:07:09 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I would die.

03:07:10 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 1:

To win Shannon's. We're doing, later this week, we're doing rock, paper, scissor for scissors. Rock, paper, scissors for scissor and Kendrick Lamar tickets. We're doing this. And we're giving away, because it's Valentine's week, We're giving away rock, which is going to be a diamond, right? Courtesy of our friends over at Lucido Fine Jewelry. Am I right in saying that? Yep. And then paper, which is going to be cash. And who is that courtesy of? Pokey Pokey. Pokey Pokey. Oh, delicious. I love it. And then SZA, which is Kendrick Lamar and SZA tickets. So we're doing that this week. Can we add panties too? Rock, paper, scissors, panties? It flows. It kind of does, doesn't it? I mean, I don't know if pokey-pokey. Hey, you can see that one too.

03:07:59 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 2:

Got back to the only thing Michigan and Ohio can agree on. Mojo in the morning. It's the second date update. A mojo in the morning.

03:08:07 - 03:08:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date with somebody? Jackson is on with us right now. Jackson, what's going on? Yeah. How could anybody not call you back, Jackson? I actually saw your entry here. and the guy seems like the sweetest guy ever. But how many dates have you gone on or how long have you guys known each other?

03:08:29 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, not long, just one date. We met at a party and went out and I thought it went really well. We shared a lot about our lives. I felt there was a real connection there and then nothing.

03:08:43 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 1:

How old are you?

03:08:46 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm 32.

03:08:47 - 03:09:00 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So you're at an age where you want to have a relationship. You want to be with somebody. And you thought that Kylie was it. Kylie's on with us right now. We're going to find out what's going on and why she wasn't calling you back. Kylie, will you say hi to Jackson?

03:09:02 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Jackson.

03:09:05 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 1:

Hi there. That does not sound like a, hey, Jackson, how are you? Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while. What's up, Kylie? What's going on?

03:09:14 - 03:09:15 | Speaker 2:

Not much.

03:09:17 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 1:

Is this an awkward situation? Are you purposely not calling him back? yeah yeah what's what's the story let's get right into it what's going on no i mean okay um do you feel comfortable if you don't feel comfortable then you can just say hey i'll move on and we'll just say goodbye

03:09:43 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 2:

no no he he he did deserve to know and i was a coward who didn't text him so i guess i like it this is what we're gonna do so what's so what's going on

03:10:00 - 03:10:09 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, he's just not my type, and I kind of knew it, like, right away, but I just, I mean.

03:10:10 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 4:

Like he's not attractive?

03:10:12 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. He is cute, and he is sweet. And he just is, like, super traditional. In what way? i mean okay we sit down and we order and like the food comes and before the food comes like he prayed okay which i love that it's fine but like i'm not religious at all so it was a lot

03:10:48 - 03:10:53 | Speaker 4:

did he ask you to pray with him or he just prayed by himself

03:10:53 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 3:

um he kind of did that sort of thing where it's like uh let's pray and i just kind of gently closed my eyes and and waited i don't know i mean i don't really know what the protocol is um so he didn't demand it of me i guess but jackson yeah did you sense that kylie was

03:11:15 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 4:

uncomfortable with the fact that you wanted to what did you do say grace or something

03:11:20 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 1:

I really didn't at the time. It kind of just came and went by so quickly. I didn't think it was a bad thing.

03:11:27 - 03:11:28 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:11:28 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 1:

I just kind of did it, and we were on with dinner and still having a good time as far as I thought.

03:11:34 - 03:11:34 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:11:34 - 03:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Was it just that? No. No, he just, he came on really strong throughout with just very like traditional ideas you know like he just kept talking about his parents like 35 year old marriage which amazing and like going to church and how he wanted to raise his kids and

03:12:03 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 4:

like I mean it just was it was a lot and that's not me okay so you are not the type of person that is uh religious it sounds like or was it all like religious stuff that you were doing jackson or was it you just saying this is kind of what i'm looking for like were you trying to say this is how i'm raising my kids like how did that conversation get brought up well we were just

03:12:30 - 03:12:58 | Speaker 1:

really open about like a lot of things that's why i thought it was going well so yeah i mean i talked about my background i kind of talked about what i'm you know looking for in another person ideally what like you know my ideal relationship would be like i mean it just felt naturally we were discussing you know the things that meant a lot to us i felt getting to know each other uh and it all felt good i mean there was nothing negative about it so and you didn't sense that

03:12:58 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 4:

she was uncomfortable at all with any of this like she seemed like she was smiling happy

03:13:04 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 1:

participating well yeah she was telling me a little better about herself too so i felt it was like kind of a good back and forth if i felt that it was off i mean i wouldn't you wouldn't

03:13:15 - 03:13:53 | Speaker 4:

be wondering why why i heard from her you know okay um so kylie because i'm never going to judge you i mean the guy sounds like a nice guy you know you sound like a nice person but this is just something that you're not into as far as you know the saying grace and doing all the rest of stuff and then also talking about the kids this was that this is not a guy that you would find is an attractive nice guy that would be nice to you you're just so turned off by that that it's it was like all right i don't want any part of this i mean listen he's great and he will he's

03:13:53 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 3:

going to be great for someone but not for you i don't think that like we're not aligned yeah you know like he it was very he's so polite he you know he's honestly he seems like he's obsessed with like opening doors and like pulling out the chair and all of those things and someone is going to be like so into that but for me you're not a you don't like your door open it sounds like he

03:14:18 - 03:14:47 | Speaker 2:

just he it sounds like you were intimidated because i feel like those are all very amazing things gentlemen i don't know if it's intimidation or just i'm trying to figure out like i mean if If the praying or the raising your kids a certain way, if that's not your thing, that's not your thing, obviously. That's your choice. But he sounds like he has all of his crap together. But what about the last stuff, shit? And I'm simply wondering if she has not dated anybody who has ever had all of his spit together. So to her, it's like, whoa, this is like a lot.

03:14:48 - 03:14:51 | Speaker 4:

She want to be choked and he not giving her that vibe.

03:14:52 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no. I don't think it has anything to do with niceness. I don't think it has anything to do with having his spit together or.

03:15:00 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 4:

not if you bring up religion that many times in a first date that's clearly a main priority to you and if i don't see eye to eye with you on those values ideals expectations whatever it is that is it's not oh she doesn't know nice men or oh she doesn't know people who have their stuff together it's no we don't see eye to eye on this that's not something i'm looking at and she didn't

03:15:24 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 7:

say that what about the holding what about holding the doors and pulling the chair out to me like that is more than just that is more than god i mean maybe that is a very godly thing to do but if if you know she doesn't like that now i'm thinking to myself you're just you're just not liking a nice guy what's up megan how you doing listener megan hey good morning guys good morning

03:15:43 - 03:16:08 | Speaker 5:

long time listener first time i'm gonna get right into it right now this woman found a gem this This woman does not know romance, does not know love, because this person clearly puts God first. And if God's first, their whole relationship is just going to be one amazing bloom.

03:16:08 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 7:

Well, let me ask this question. Kylie, are you are you atheist or like, what is it? Because nobody should ever judge a person for what they're doing or for what their beliefs are.

03:16:20 - 03:16:24 | Speaker 6:

I'm just it's not really a part of my life. I didn't grow up with that at all. So it's not that you're atheist.

03:16:24 - 03:16:41 | Speaker 7:

It's just that you're just not one that wants to talk religion and stuff. Listen, he does sound like a gem, Megan. I mean, he sounds like a really nice guy. But like we said, maybe it's just not a gem for her. Mark, what's going on? How you doing?

03:16:42 - 03:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank you. So, Megan, I love that you put ideals. I love when people say ideals for the record. I love that. No, I agree with her 100%. So my wife is very religious. She goes to church every Sunday with the kids. I grew up Catholic. My mom was Jewish. I think the praying on a first date, I guess here's my thing. I don't know how you all met or if you said it, I missed it. But I feel like that should have been.

03:17:13 - 03:17:21 | Speaker 7:

If she says Christian mingle, I'm going to shout. You didn't meet on any kind of a religious app like that, did you?

03:17:21 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 2:

no we just met at a party okay you met at a party okay i mean i feel like that probably should have been established if it's that i don't know i do think the the the praying on the first date i don't know i think that's a bit you can't say grace but what about very intimidating you don't

03:17:41 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 4:

know if people have been through religious trauma you don't know what people have been through with their walk with God or without God and to to just say, well, that's a them problem instead of acknowledging they might not have the same relationship or be as comfortable being very public with it as I do. That's not necessarily a negative. And I think the way it's being thrown

03:18:02 - 03:18:36 | Speaker 7:

as a negative is not fair to her. I think honestly, I think that for for Jackson, it's actually a good thing that he knows this. I agree. But but she should say to him, hey, listen, I'm not into that. But I think the idea when she went there and we kind of went right over it because I think the religious part got us. But the idea that this guy is traditional because he holds a door open for you or pulls a chair out for you, to me, honestly, at that point, I don't understand that. He's just trying to be a nice guy. And if you, Kylie, I don't understand what you're, what would be your, I'm negative on that.

03:18:36 - 03:18:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's what I said. I wonder if she's just not used to that. And so it freaked her out.

03:18:40 - 03:18:43 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Like, what is the negative to him doing that?

03:18:43 - 03:18:57 | Speaker 6:

it has felt like pretend like I don't that's not how my the men in my family act and I don't think they act disrespectful I think they just meet me more where I am and not as if I am like a

03:18:57 - 03:19:12 | Speaker 3:

special treasure to be you know but don't you but don't you want somebody who cherishes you and and does treat you that way like and is genuine about it I think that that that's the

03:19:12 - 03:19:18 | Speaker 6:

point is i think a lot of women do want that but i want someone to be on my team and to meet me

03:19:18 - 03:19:24 | Speaker 3:

where i am okay and i guess i just don't understand how that how how he wasn't that i would actually

03:19:24 - 03:19:29 | Speaker 7:

say this to jackson you should have pulled the chair when she tried to sit on it i see what

03:19:29 - 03:19:39 | Speaker 1:

happens then this is the home of the dirty on the 30 throwback throwdown second date update and war of the roses this is mojo in the morning oh my god breaking news just got word
