All right, tell me you love me.

00:03:15 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 6:

And this morning, it happened to me because Shannon gave us all candy. Even though it was all of us, it made me feel special today. Shannon, thank you.

00:03:23 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 7:

I'm so happy I could do that for you. You know, now you have to give a valentine to every single person in your class.

00:03:30 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

Well, that was it. Back when I was a kid. Back, you know, when we walked uphill both ways to school, the girls chose who they liked and who they didn't like. And honestly, at that point, I just wanted candy, for God's sakes. I wasn't even looking for anything other than that. I just wanted some sugar in my life, you know?

00:03:45 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 7:

The anxiety of that moment. Brad Yeager could have given you a candy on Valentine's Day. Actually, Brad Yeager did. And it would have been great.

00:03:52 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 6:

brad yeager's mom gave me big candy bars because she knew i wasn't getting anything so all right let's get this thing started happy friday guys you got a good song you want to hear

00:05:19 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome. This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. I am not feeling the love this morning.

00:05:39 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Megan. Happy Valentine's Day. Well, happy Valentine's Day to your gluten-filled cookies over there. I know.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

The bulk gluten-free flour still has not come in. I'm sorry.

00:05:51 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

No, can I be honest with you, though? You came in, and you handed them all out, and you said, Mojo, if you'd like, I give you one of these ones and I'm thinking to myself, I'd like, but the problem is at the beginning of a show, I would be duty in all morning.

00:06:02 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. It's on its way though. I did order bulk gluten-free flour just for you.

00:06:07 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you're the best. Can I ask you guys a question? Do you find that yourself, if you're single and if you're single, tell me if you do this, will you be on any of the dating apps today? Because I read a stat that I thought was the most interesting that said Valentine's day is the day where a lot of women will let their guard down. that they'll be more willing to just go, yeah, what the hell, you know? And so they said that today is actually a day where a lot of people do find love on dating apps because they're not being so picky. Anybody listening that has ever experienced something like that before? I think that's kind of interesting, though, that on Valentine's Day, because I always thought to me that Valentine's Day was just like a Hallmark holiday or something like that. You're right. It wasn't one of those days where it's like Christmas or Easter, where it's like set in stone, this is the day. I feel like people either love it or leave it.

00:07:00 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 3:

I feel like that's completely true. A lot of people I feel like have FOMO on these days where you start to especially go on social media, you look on your timeline, you see people getting these roses, they're getting these balloons, and you start to feel a little left out. So maybe your guard does go down and that guy or that DM you wouldn't have responded to, maybe you will know.

00:07:17 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 4:

But you want to know what's funny is I would say a good chunk of people in a relationship on valentine's day are like it's so silly yeah so there's the people like want longing for that and then the people that are in a relationship are like please don't get

00:07:30 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

me anything do we know in maybe we'll have to call our friends over at sorella's or lovers lane and ask them the question is it a big day in the the sex shops like do oh it's gotta be really where What do you think? People are going to find self-love. Get in that pocket piece.

00:07:51 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we were watching, like I had the Channel 7 News on in the kitchen last night. They talked about pocket peas? No, but a Lover's Lane commercial came on. And it was this girl, you've probably seen it. It was this girl like rolling around in a bed with her finger in her mouth. And she's got on red lacy lingerie. and Smith just turns around very slowly and looks at me. He goes, wow. I'm like, I did not know that they could, it was like 5.30 p.m.

00:08:21 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Now let's go to Brad Galley with the sports update. By the way, I laugh at, I do laugh at some of these commercials that used to run on the radio and I thought they were hysterical, but they were all sexual innuendos and then I felt like you would get occasionally like the WNIC listener that would get a little bit crazed over something like that. Well, happy Valentine's Day to y'all. And here's the deal. If you don't have a valentine, we'll be your valentine today. And I'm going to try to keep the throwbacks to, you know, love songs. I might actually, the only song I might play this morning that's not like a love song will be Not Like Us. Although that was kind of his love song to Drake, wasn't it?

00:09:02 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

An ode to Compton, we'll say that.

00:09:05 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

We have prizes, too. We've got a lot of good prizes. is we're giving away this morning our Rock, Paper, Scissors contest.

00:09:10 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm excited for that. Yeah.

00:09:12 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

So we're going to be playing that coming up this morning where a listener is going to have a chance to win a $4,000 diamond ring from Lucido Fine Jewelry in Birmingham, Rochester, and Sterling Heights. Also, that's for The Rock. The paper is $1,000 from Pokey Pokey. Somebody said, is it $1,000 in Pokey Pokey? No, it's $1,000. $1,000 in Pokey Pokey, I'll take it. I love Pokey Pokey, although I got to be careful. Sometimes I feel like I eat so much tuna in a week because I go so often. But that's coming up later this morning. Then the SZA tickets, by the way, is the SZA. So we have all of our Mojo in the Morning listeners on their way down here to the beautiful iHeartRadio Detroit Eastern Market Studios.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Of course, on Orlean Street in the Eastern Market. And when you do arrive, that hunky security guard is out there.

00:10:08 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 6:

What's his name again? Najeeb.

00:10:10 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I said to him, I go, happy Valentine's Day. Guarantee you'll get some Valentine's today from every girl in this building.

00:10:16 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 6:

For sure.

00:10:17 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 2:

It's unreal.

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 6:

One of these cookies is for him.

00:10:19 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Is it? You got to present it to him live on the radio. Can we do that?

00:10:23 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

Of course I will.

00:10:24 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's do it. So let's make sure. This guy, by the way, might be one of the greatest guys ever. Love him. The damn guy's way too good looking. I know. Like, do you ever meet those people that you're like, kind of like Kev, that are just so damn good looking. They're good looking and they got that smile. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it.

00:10:42 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 4:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:11:32 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 1:

All your curves and all your edges. All your perfect imperfections.

00:11:40 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

00:12:27 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, all happened in the same year. Ashley Simpson and Evan Ross got married.

00:12:30 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 6:

We met at my friend's birthday party. Evan walked in, and he was really cute.

00:12:36 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 7:

He was really cute. Like, who is this Mr. Cool Pants? Nice. Did you come and talk to me?

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 2:

No. Broad City premiered in this year.

00:12:46 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 5:

Do you know them? No. But in DeClerb, we all fam. What? In the club, we all fam. In the club, we are all family. Are you racist?

00:13:01 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

John Legend's All of Me was the big song. What year was it? Rob, what year was that? Hey, Rob. How you doing? Good, buddy. What year was that?

00:13:14 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 4:

2014. Yeah, Robbie.

00:13:18 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations.

00:13:20 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 1:

Hey, buddy. Congratulations to you, buddy.

00:13:25 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 2:

We're going to set you up with the prize. You got tickets to see Foster the People happening at the Fillmore Theater in just a couple of days, actually, on Monday. Congratulations to you.

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. I appreciate it.

00:13:36 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I want to just throw this out there. Next week, we got some really good prizes, and I'll go through the entire list later this morning because we're giving away lots of good concert tickets like The Weeknd and Kendrick and stuff. But back in the daytime next week, we're going to give away tickets to see comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. Is that how you pronounce his name? I always say Maniscalco. I thought he said for some reason. But the guy, you ever see him at all? Do stand up? I'm about to Google that, man. Sebastian is all over my reels for some reason with some of his comedy. But he's a really, really funny guy. Tickets available for that show. He's playing Little Caesars Arena in March. and we got tickets all next week starting at 6.30 in the morning. Right now, we're going to give you a shot at Kendrick and SZA tickets. Text to win. Text MUSTARD to 95500. That's MUSTARD to 95500. M-U-S-T-A-R-D to 95500. And you could win. Standard text and data rates do apply.

00:14:35 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:14:37 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

It is Valentine's Day, and Deep Voice Guy, real quick, has a special message for Shannon. Dear Shannon, I love you.

00:14:45 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe how much I'm not sick of you. Love, Deep Voice Guy. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:14:51 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

00:14:52 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

What a guy.

00:14:53 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 7:

I don't know what to make of him.

00:14:55 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 2:

He's a man of many words. What do you got in this hour's dirty?

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 6:

Well, it is bad.

00:15:00 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 5:

TikTok returned to U.S. app stores, Apple, Google, yesterday as President Donald Trump delayed its ban until April 5th. So if you are wanting to download it, if you got a new phone and you needed to download it, you can now.

00:15:16 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 3:

It is back.

00:15:16 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 1:

This morning, nearly a month after being removed by the country's biggest app stores, TikTok is back. TikTok is back on the app store. This is not a drill. Last night, Apple and Google restored TikTok to their app stores after removing them on January 19th. In response to a new law requiring TikTok's Chinese parent, ByteDance, to divest its operations in the U.S. or be banned, lawmakers voiced serious concerns over the app after classified briefings, calling the app a national security concern due to ByteDance's close ties to the Chinese government. ByteDance denies it's a threat.

00:15:52 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

Frankly, we have no choice. We have to save it.

00:15:55 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 1:

On his first day in office, President Trump signed an executive order extending the deadline for the app's sale to April 5th. Trump supported banning the app during his first term, but reversed his stance during the 2024 campaign.

00:16:08 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 2:

I think that TikTok was a, I think it was a big part. Look, as you know, we were up by 36% with you. The Republican was never up with you. And I focused on TikTok and I found it to be amazing, actually.

00:16:23 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 1:

According to the New York Times, Apple and Google had recently received letters from the Justice Department assuring them they would not face fines if TikTok was restored in their app store.

00:16:34 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Remember people were selling phones with TikTok already down the weight on them? I was crazy. All right, another day, another Diddy lawsuit. The latest, he allegedly forced a woman to consume a drink and then sexually assaulted her at an L.A. nightclub back in 2016. team he's being sued by a brand new dame doe who claims that he sexually assaulted her at club playhouse in los angeles the woman sharing her story she said diddy approached her in the club offered her a drink she initially refused and when she did he told her quote bitch i am not asking you drink that spit and shut the f up the woman claims she downed the drink because diddy scared the crap out of her afterward he placed his right arm around her in a side hug and then shoved his hand up her skirt you can imagine what came after that she claims his entourage was laughing nearby when all of this happened and the woman said she was ultimately able to escape diddy she left the club hailed a ride back to her hotel where she said she felt so disoriented she actually needed help getting back up to her room when she woke up the next morning she said she was horrified to find that she was injured um around her vagina and she believes it is from the alleged assault that happened the night prior diddy's legal team responding today no matter how many lawsuits are filed especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims it won't change the fact that mr combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone man or woman adult or minor it surprises me that comment because

00:18:12 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 3:

of, obviously, the fear that you're going to be called a victim shamer when you do that and say that they don't put their names to the little bit. There's no winning. How many is this? Do we know how many this is now for him? That's a great question. I don't know.

00:18:27 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 5:

Lady Gaga appearing on the latest episode of Hot Ones. Getting candid about the moment, she came real close to walking away from her career.

00:18:36 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 4:

I missed the community that I had in New York, and that was really hard. And so there were definitely times where I felt like maybe I should walk away. But I know for sure that I never would. Because if I would definitely say that I was tested. And I always didn't give up. I'm still doing it. So it must mean I want to do it.

00:19:06 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 5:

It's actually a really good episode. I think it was around Winged Hen that she told a great story about pretending to be her own manager at one point early on in her career so she could book her own gigs. My whole day was spent trying to get those gigs.

00:19:18 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 3:

I hate when they put the audio or the music behind it to make it more drama. I'm trying to do it right here.

00:19:24 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 4:

I would knock on door after door after door and just say, can I please play here? Or I would call and pretend I was my manager.

00:19:35 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 2:

Successfully?

00:19:35 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 4:

I would tell people, I'd be like, she's so hot right now. And sometimes I would do like an accent and yeah, I mean, I would do anything to get booked.

00:19:43 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 3:

My favorite Gaga story ever was the first interview we ever did with her and how she waited in her car, actually the record person's car, and sat in the car for an hour and 20 minutes before coming into the studio. And we had.

00:20:00 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 2:

a meeting that we had to go to we actually had steve reynolds our old morning show consultant in town and she was standing sitting in the car just kind of sitting there hanging out it was actually not a car it was like a like one of those passenger vans and we're waving at her through the windows of that old conference room that we had over on halstead road and steve reynolds goes outside to go ask her to please come into the building because we had a meeting to get to And then she finally came in And she was an incredible interview We did maybe a 45 minute Taped interview with her And I think we might have aired every second of that thing on the air It was that good I'm so jealous She was waiting in the car And they were just sitting there all talking with each other So she was doing one of these things Kanye did it with us too back in the day Where they sit in the car and it's kind of like We're going to come on our time Where they didn't want to come

00:20:51 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 1:

Rihanna did that to us too

00:20:53 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and she did. Like, for some reason, it's like, even though the interview is scheduled, like, there's some artists that come early and they want to get in and they want to get out. Like, you know what I mean? Like, they do it. And then there are artists that, to them, it's artistic to go, you're going to wait for me, you know? It's kind of like when artists make you wait when you're trying to go to a concert. So, I don't know.

00:21:12 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 1:

Hey, for all of this week's dirty, catch up on the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:22:23 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Literally handed over to her. I said to her, I go, hey, could you do me a favor? Could you take a picture of my wife and I? She's like, yeah, no problem. No. Let me ask you guys this question. I'm just going to throw this out there. And I'm not trying to say that I'm going to sue or anything, because honestly, I don't even know who she is. I have no clue. If I knew, David I'm calling him right now. But let me ask you a question. What would you do in that case? Just a quick little, what would you do if you were that person?

00:22:56 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 1:

Be mortified.

00:22:58 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 2:

Would you, if you're the person that dropped it, would you offer to do anything for that or no? Am I crazy? What am I going to do?

00:23:08 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 1:

It's an accident, but it's so just unfortunate.

00:23:12 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 2:

The crazy thing of the whole deal is that we weren't that far from an Apple store. We were literally shopping, so we were right by an Apple store. She could have at least said, and I will tell you this, I'm okay because I have Apple care theft and damage or whatever the heck it is, which I don't know how to use. If there's anybody from the iPhone stores listening, will you call me up and will you tell me? But it was one of those situations where I was like, are you effing kidding me? I just got this thing. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Has anybody ever made somebody pay for that? Or has that ever happened to you? Question for you. Yeah. Did she drop it before or after she took the picture? She dropped it before she took the picture. Oh, no. Now, did she pick it back up and then take the picture? No, she picked it back up, and she's like, oh, hold on a second. And I had to put it back into the camera thing. Yeah. And I'm looking. I'm going, oh, I don't think there's any damage to the whole thing. And then I look, and literally as I swipe up, because you swipe up on the bottom of the thing, you feel it different. I'm like, oh, crap, my thing's... So I actually said, oh, darn, it actually broke. No, you didn't. Yeah. Why? You don't think I should have done that? No. What should I have done? Should I have said that?

00:24:24 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 1:

Say nothing. Really? It was broke before you handed it to her. Oh, no. Why?

00:24:29 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't know this woman.

00:24:30 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 1:

Because I feel like...

00:24:31 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 2:

She may be a chronic phone breaker. She gets off on this.

00:24:35 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 1:

There are accidents, like somebody dings your car. Yeah, give your information. There are accidents like breaking your phone that, I'm sorry, you just got to take that one.

00:24:44 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you're saying that if a person, why is that song still playing? Because it's a banger. No, it's just like, I can't get rid of it. No, but wait, you're telling me that if I ding a person's car in a Meijer parking lot, I should have to pay. Yes. But a lady drops my phone and I.

00:25:00 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 1:

don't i can't explain it i don't even have justification makes no sense is the way that

00:25:04 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 5:

it is unreal mike what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi mojo i got a question brother yes sir did you not have a case on your phone no i have a case i have the case i have the silicone silicon blue case my wife said to me it was my fault because i don't have a screen protector on

00:25:22 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 4:

yeah which i hate screen protectors but it's just a silicone case it's not like a shock

00:25:27 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 5:

what do you think i need to get one of those uh okay no what's otter boxes an otter it doesn't

00:25:33 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 4:

need to be an otter box so it could be like just uh amazon like 20 like i have a 20 dollar one i dropped your victim blaming don't blame me i'm just trying to put the story in perspective you by the way if you ding a car next to you megan says you have to pay for that so i believe that too unreal megan you're right you're right almost 100 percent of it i'm hanging

00:26:02 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 5:

00:26:10 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 2:

so my son is a college student and his car caught on fire at the mcdonald's and he had his macbook watch airpods ipad everything we pay for apple care they do not cover anything so be ready to oh why are you doing this to me really i'm just being real and i'm just being honest

00:26:34 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 5:

that's oh come on now why would you i i've had it before where i've had like cracked screens and stuff and they offered to to take care of it so my phone still at least works well that's good but

00:26:47 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, his car caught on fire, and he was coming home from the weekend, BGSU. Go Falcons? Yeah, go Falcons. And, yeah, his car caught on fire, unfortunately. And he had all his electronics in there, and Apple didn't cover, AppleCare didn't cover anything.

00:27:06 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 5:

At that point, you know what I would do? Honestly, at that point, I'd make a claim against my car insurance. I would tell them.

00:27:11 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 2:

Nope. We had to go against our homeowners, so, yeah. Oh, okay. All right.

00:27:16 - 00:27:24 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. I will talk to this person. I won't talk to Mike. He's trying to call back. I can see him. I'll talk to Giovanni because Giovanni says what?

00:27:26 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I just want to say, Mojo, it's not your fault, man. Hey, thank you.

00:27:30 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 5:

Smart guy.

00:27:31 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 6:

You know, your phone gets dropped. I don't keep a case on my phone at all. I've had it for years. I've dropped it hundreds of times, it feels like. Never cracked.

00:27:38 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 5:

I have a case. I got a perfectly good case on it. That case should protect it. I don't understand why it didn't. What's up, Richard? Hi.

00:27:47 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 3:

hey how are you a long time listener first time call mojo if you asked her to take the picture it's your fault i mean you're asking her to do so

00:28:02 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 5:

00:28:20 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 1:

So, I was calling because I said I agree with Megan because if you do ding somebody's car, that's your fault, but you ask somebody to do you a favor.

00:28:30 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 5:

Goodbye, too. Who is it? Wait, is this Mike again? First time, long time. No, it's not. No, it's not. No, it's not. I'm never taking – I'm flagging you right now.

00:28:45 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, Mojo, before you hang up. Before you hang up. Yeah. Megan is almost bright. Oh, God, I got to go.

00:28:53 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:28:56 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 3:

5 at 6.55.

00:28:58 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 5:

No, it's not. It's not even 6.55 anymore. All right, I'm sorry. I screwed up the schedule there. I had to talk about that because my phone is bothering me this morning, Lydia. so I'm going to run a little late with the 5 of 6.55. And then we got our Rock, Paper, Scissors contest coming up here in just a little bit. Why is Megan right?

00:29:16 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 3:

This is the best day of my life.

00:29:18 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 5:

Nick, you don't agree with Megan, right? Thank you. I couldn't hear you guys. I just came through. Good morning. Good morning. Just say, I don't agree with you, Megan. I agree with you, Megan.

00:29:30 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 1:

Yes, this is the best day ever. Love you.

00:29:33 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 5:

All right, you're challenger this morning. I'm hoping she beats your ass. She's from Flint. She is going to the gym right now. Please welcome Erica to the show. What's up, Erica? How you doing?

00:29:45 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. I'm good.

00:29:47 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 5:

Erica says that you're going to U of M Flint. You're getting a bachelor's degree. Can you beat Nick?

00:29:54 - 00:29:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm hoping so.

00:29:55 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 5:

All right. Nick, say hi. Good morning.

00:29:58 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

He did an Oprah.

00:30:00 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to lock you up in a soundproof area right now. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one, Erica. The New York Jets said goodbye to their very outspoken quarterback yesterday after only two seasons. Who is he? Three seconds. Three, two. Oh, I'm sorry, Erica. No, give her more time. I had her phone off. Erica, who is he? 100 seconds. Manning. Question number two. Rumor has it that Kanye West and his wife, Bianca, are divorcing. What was Kanye's beloved mom's name? Hint, his 10th studio album was named after her. Three seconds. Pass. Passing that one. Question number three. Bridget Jones, mad about the boy, is skipping movie theaters this time around and hitting Peacock today. Which actress famously plays Bridget Jones? Renee Zellweger. Question number four. Yesterday, the Senate confirmed RFK as President Trump's health secretary. What does RFK stand for? Three seconds. Robert. Robert. Just give the middle initial. Did you say it? You can just do a middle initial if you want to. Go ahead.

00:31:36 - 00:31:37 | Unknown:

99.

00:31:37 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 1:

Robert.

00:31:38 - 00:31:38 | Unknown:

98.

00:31:38 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 1:

Robert. And what's the last name? Kennedy. All right. Question number five. Selena Gomez and her fiancee just announced a collab album. Who is he? Benny Blanco. Let's bring the champ back from a sound-proof area. That's terrible, Erica. Three out of five. All right. So better than the last couple of days, Nick. You ready? Nick, question number one. The New York Jets said goodbye to their very outspoken quarterback yesterday after only two seasons. Who is he? Three seconds. Ooh, passed. Really? All right. Aaron Rodgers. Zero, zero. Aaron Glenn already coming in there and telling him who's boss. I love you. Question number two. Rumor has it that Kanye West and his wife, Bianca, are divorcing. What was Kanye's beloved mom's name? Hint, it was his 10th studio album named after her. Donda. Donda, yes. One to nothing. Question number three. Bridget Jones, mad about the boy, is skipping movie theaters this time around and hitting Peacock today. Which actress famously plays Bridget Jones? Three seconds. Three. Two. Oh, gosh. One. Oh, Renee Zieg something. Oh, I don't know. One, two, one. Renee Zellweger. Here's the deal. You got to get these next two questions right. Right, doesn't he? Oh, yes. I believe so, yeah. By the way, that movie going straight to Peacock because it probably pee sucks. They're doing that with so much lately, though. Dude, I love you today. Question number four. You cannot miss any of these. Otherwise, we have a new champion. Question number four. Yesterday, the Senate confirmed RFK as President Trump's health secretary. What does RFK stand for? Robert F. Kennedy. Yes. Two to two. And it comes down to this question, the last question. If you get it right, you will have won with a three to three tie. It would have been your closest contest that you've had all week. If you miss it, Nick, we will be saying goodbye to you, and you will not have a chance to come back next week for Double Digits. Here we go. Question number five. Selena Gomez and her fiancé just announced a collab album. Who is he? Benny Blanco. Yeah, yeah. Still the champion. Yeah.

00:34:10 - 00:34:10 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:34:11 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

All I do is win, win, win, no matter what. Congratulations, man. I didn't think it was funny. What's that? I had you buried underneath this song. What did you say? I said I got to study up this weekend. It's too close for comfort. It is just way too close for comfort. Come on, Nick. You got to get some five out of fives on this one. I was actually, I don't know, maybe a little surprised both you guys missed the Aaron Rodgers thing just because he's in the news so often. But, hey, congratulations to you, Erica. We got a parting gift for you. Special thanks to our good friends over at Tabooli for setting us up with some gift cards to that great Middle Eastern restaurant. Hang on the phone for just one second, okay? We'll get you set up with that, all right? Okay, thank you. All right, you're not freaking out. I ran late with a 5 of 6.55, so it wasn't the longest one ever.

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:35:03 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Mornings, live. Hi, Adriana. What's going on?

00:35:22 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. I just want to say that you're literally spot on today. I'm what? humor and you're spot on with your humor spot on oh that's nice of you and you're blunt you're so

00:35:34 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 1:

blunt i love it you like you like sassy mojo you like sassy pants mojo i gotta be i have to be honest with you i just like whenever we have like a little we got a battle back and forth especially when it's with megan so i like to go back and forth with her so me too and i love her

00:35:56 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 2:

too oh don't do that to me now you don't hang up on her mojo no no no you're mojo's right today

00:36:02 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 1:

thank you thank you so much now you're good all right we love you thanks so much hold on uh we got uh rock paper scissors coming up uh this morning here we're gonna do that coming up in a little bit look at all those guys out there hi guys they showed up i like it some beautiful people we're going to be giving away a four thousand dollar rock a diamond ring from lucido fine jewelry uh we're going to be giving away paper which is a thousand dollars cash to pokey pokey and then we've got tickets to see kendrick lamar and sizza and we're going to be doing a game of rock paper scissor and we'll do that coming up here next on the mojo in the morning show uh left here yesterday i know that a lot of for a lot of people a lot of parents they went home to a house full of kids because the all the schools were closed uh with the the snow day um

00:36:56 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 3:

can i just check in on all of the parents that had children stay home yesterday because i feel like if i am not okay still from yesterday you may not still be okay was it crazy today it was and you know this i love my my kids more than anything else in the whole entire world i'd rather hang out with them than anybody else. But yesterday just about did me in. I was ready to check myself in somewhere. I don't know what it was. And please call if you felt like there was just something going on, something in the air yesterday. But it was these two sweet children turned into demons during this snow day. Yeah, I went home and normally I love a good snow day. I love the chance to get some extra snuggles and just pile on the couch and comfy clothes and watch TV or whatever i got home and wes so kindly stayed home from the office to watch them and then we were going to switch and he was going to go in when i got home from work and when i got home he looked like he was ready to pull his hair out and he said they were good but it's still tough to have all of them and three dogs not just your two well i we had lucy and smith and then we normally would not have samantha but we had samantha who is my sophomore stepdaughter and she's had the flu since sunday so she's been in her room but we still had her so we we were you know dealing with that and trying to keep her sane and wes is trying to run meetings for his team at work as all of this is going on so i get home and the kids were just out of sorts and cranky constantly getting into fights and beating each other up and one's crying and then the other's crying and then lucy had her stepsister over and they were kind of getting into some trouble together and being mean to smith and the dogs were bad then one of the dogs started barfing then the at&t fiber people were at our house all day ringing the doorbell to give me updates and i'm like i don't care i'm trying to i'm on a zoom call with you guys trying to get some work done and then my stepdaughter fainted so we were dealing with that and then we went sledding and lucy hurt her niece

00:39:07 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 1:

so she was crying like it was just a day aren't snow days supposed to be kids going to the basement

00:39:13 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

and we don't have a basement for them to go into because that's somebody's bedroom now

00:39:17 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 1:

so it was just i would a lot i would think that if they're like it's a snow day i remember when it was a snow day we used to have to fight them to go outside we're like get outside the kids all they want and i remember i my favorite thing was coming home i'd come home from work and there'd be 8 000 boots at our front door like in that front entry area and these kids would all come over there's snow crap all over i'd be like wait a second i went to work there were only three kids

00:39:42 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 3:

now there's like 25 kids it was so funny we i went to the sledding hill and there were so many families there and i kept looking at the other like we all were just giving each other this look of this is this is our sanity for 30 minutes letting the kids go sledding was this yesterday

00:39:55 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Was this yesterday for a lot of you? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-665.

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 5:

6548. Hi, Megan. How you doing?

00:40:02 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. Happy Friday.

00:40:03 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 5:

Hey, happy Friday.

00:40:05 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 2:

So I just wanted to tell Shannon, not only, it was like the super snow day, because there was a snow moon, which is like a full moon, but I don't know why it's called a snow moon. And I work at a daycare, and my kids have just been out of, off the wall crazy the past couple of days. I don't know what it is about full moons, but then the snow moon was even worse.

00:40:26 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 6:

Honest to God, that makes me feel better because something was going on. It was not normal.

00:40:32 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 5:

I've never heard of a snowman. It's the first time I've ever heard of that, but that's pretty interesting. It's like mercury retrograde times 12. What's up, Holly? How you doing?

00:40:43 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 4:

Good.

00:40:43 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 5:

How are you? Fantastic. What's going on?

00:40:47 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday, my husband got to stay home with all four of our children. He works 24-hour shifts, so he was extremely tired last, well, yesterday morning from working all night in the snow going on calls and stuff. And all four of my children seem to have lost their minds yesterday and were fighting with each other. He was texting me. I was actually ready to leave work because I was like, he cannot handle this today.

00:41:16 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 5:

Wow. So he was nuttier because he was home? Like, is he not normally the patience guy? He normally doesn't have the patience?

00:41:27 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 4:

I think it very much depends on the day. But seeing as that, so he works fire EMS. Okay.

00:41:34 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 5:

In those long shifts, he was probably tired, huh?

00:41:37 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Super busy, super tired. He was like, I just want to take a nap. And everybody was losing their minds. But just like the first caller said, there was a full moon. And I blame a lot on that.

00:41:49 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's tough. I don't know how single moms or single dads do it when their kids' school is called off.

00:41:55 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 6:

And you have to go to work. What do you do? And they do it so last minute most of the time. What do you do?

00:42:00 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 5:

Well, poor Kev. Kev's got a day-to-day because Josiah's not feeling good today. And you got him. I don't know how you handle that whole thing. Just pray. Hope he sleeps until I get off. What's going on, Mikayla? Hi.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

00:42:16 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's going on?

00:42:18 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 3:

Good. First time, long time. Hey, baby, baby. Hey, baby, baby. Hey, baby, baby.

00:42:22 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 5:

And do you hate your kids like Shannon hates hers?

00:42:26 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm a full-time nanny to three kids, and I have one of my own. Oh. And yesterday, something was just up. These kids are normally so good, and yesterday, I don't know. I don't know what was in the air. I don't know what was going on, but I left, and my husband travels for work Monday through Friday, so I'm also solo parenting during the week. And I just went home, and I just didn't know what was going on.

00:42:55 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 6:

I drank last night.

00:42:56 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you did what?

00:42:57 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 6:

I drank.

00:42:58 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

Yesterday?

00:42:59 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 6:

I drank last night. Oh, last night.

00:43:01 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 5:

It might have been like 4 o'clock.

00:43:03 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 6:

I was ready. You know what? Yesterday, that was last night. I mean, it was. I said to my girlfriends, the next time they call a snow day, I am calling the school and saying, uh-uh, no. 00:47:27 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 3:

All right, looks like the ring has it.

00:47:29 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 2:

Happy Valentine's Day. All right, are we ready to play here? Are we ready to play a little contest? All right, so we got our brackets.

00:47:33 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 3:

We got our opponents facing off against each other. Oh, I love it. This is the rock, paper, sizzling extravaganza. Look at her running around. Oh, it's like a soul train line on her. This is fire. Shout out to Bianca. We live. Are we live somewhere? KP, are we live somewhere? We're live on what? So the people who are listening can see. So who we got right here? What's your name? Destiny. Destiny. And you're facing off against? Brian. All right. So Destiny and Brian, we're going to go sudden death, right? So this is just one shot. Yeah.

00:48:14 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 2:

And when it gets down to the end and we get down to like the last three, we'll do best out of three on that one.

00:48:19 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 3:

So you all ready? So our pace is going to be rock, paper, scissors, shoot. All right, let's see those fists. Let's get our hands in position. You ready? All right, on my mark, one, two, three, go. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. All right, so Destiny wins with paper over rock. Destiny advances. Wow, nice, Destiny. All right, who we got next?

00:48:37 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Justin.

00:48:38 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 3:

We got Justin and Jennifer. All right, let's step up. One, two, three, go. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. All right. The ladies are winning right now. Wow. She wins with paper. 00:49:05 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 2:

Who is it? Who is that? Who is that one?

00:49:07 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Jessica. Jessica.

00:49:09 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Nice job, Jessica. All right, here we go.

00:49:11 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 3:

Wow, all right. This is good. You got Lexi against?

00:49:14 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 1:

Jacqueline.

00:49:15 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 3:

All right, you ready? All right, one, two, three, rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Both of you get paper. Let's do it one more time. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Oh, the paper wins again. Wow. Man. All right, so we got a lone wolf out here. What's going to happen?

00:49:39 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

00:49:40 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 3:

So she's our number one seed.

00:49:42 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 2:

Or she plays against you, Kev. Maybe she plays against you.

00:49:45 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 3:

I love that.

00:49:46 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 2:

How about she plays against you?

00:49:48 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 3:

Let's get it. You ready?

00:49:49 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go.

00:49:50 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 3:

All right, rock, paper, scissors, shoot. And she got me. Oh, she got you.

00:49:54 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 2:

All right, she got you. So she does move on.

00:49:56 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 3:

All right, so here we go.

00:49:57 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 2:

All right, so now wait real quick. How many are we down? two now. So we're down to the final

00:50:02 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 1:

four. I like how he slowed down his sentence so he could count. So the final four. So this is the final four of Rock, Paper, SZA here. And tickets, by the way, to go to the concert to see Kendrick and SZA in June or Valentine's Day Love with a diamond from Lucido Fine Jewelries, a diamond ring, $4,000 diamond ring, and then $1,000 from Pokey Pokey. Go ahead. Here we go.

00:50:27 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 2:

Are we ready? Alright, so step up. This is a semifinals we ready one two three rock paper wait a second you ready all right we are we ready all right let's get it on for like judge mills lanes in here all right so we tied up with the rock let's do it again rock paper scissors shoot all right the rock advances all right here we go you ready i see the nerves are shaking shaking in your boots all right you ready all right let's get No, rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Oh, the scissors are going crazy.

00:51:00 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here's the deal. The two that came in, so there's two left, right? There's two winners.

00:51:07 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 2:

There are two individuals who did not advance, but we have the one person who beat me. So I say we let the two who did not advance face off each other, and then the winner of that has to face off each other. Exactly. Let's do that. All right, so you're not out of it. You're not out. You're not out of it. Where did you go? Where'd you go?

00:51:23 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 1:

Where is our loser that just lost?

00:51:27 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 2:

You were just in the semifinal round, so you come back up here. You're not out of it yet. You've got to play one more. Here we go. It's Valentine's Day. You'd love another chance. All right, so listen. Here we go. The winner of this has to advance into our quarterfinal round, all right? You ready? Let's get it on. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Oh, all right, so you advance, so let's go here. Now, who we got? Who are these two people? What are their names? Where are they from? What's your name? Where are you from? Jacqueline from Belleville. Jacqueline from Belleville. Stephanie from New Haven. Stephanie from New Haven, who came in with her hair down but has now slicked it back to a ponytail. I like it. She is serious. All right, here we go. Let's get it on. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. All right. New Haven advances. New Haven, wow.

00:52:09 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 1:

Stephanie's all right. All right, so here's the deal now, Cav. So now, Cav, we're down to what? We're down to our final three. The final three on this one here. You guys all are winners. All winners. You're going to win something. So you're going to end up getting something. Now it's just a matter of who's going to be the first to choose, who's going to be the second to choose. And this is where we do the best out of three against this. All right? What's the feeling over there, Kev?

00:52:33 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 2:

What is it in the air? You can cut the tension with a pair of scissor. Oh, yeah. She set you up for that one. All right. All right. So we got three remaining. Like you said, everybody's going home with a prize.

00:52:49 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 1:

This is on Facebook Live right now, Rock, Paper, Scissor.

00:52:51 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 2:

All right. So we're going to do this by, I don't know how we're going to pick who's going to go against who.

00:52:57 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here, I'm going to flip it.

00:52:59 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 2:

What's this voice he's doing? This is my confused voice.

00:53:02 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 1:

I got it. Stephanie. Stephanie's chosen. And then who is the other one was from? Stephanie. And Belleville Jackie.

00:53:12 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 2:

You got Destiny. Jessica.

00:53:15 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here, we're going to pick it in the studio. We're going to pick it in the studio here right now. All right. Stephanie versus Destiny. So Stephanie, Destiny. are going to be going against each other with then the...

00:53:25 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

So there is no Destiny. So there's a Jennifer from Warren. Yeah. There's a Jessica from Milan. And then there is Stephanie from Grand Haven.

00:53:37 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right.

00:53:38 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 2:

So put them in a hat, mix it up, and tell me who's going to go again, too. All right.

00:53:44 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer from Warren versus Stephanie from New Haven.

00:53:47 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 2:

All right. Here we go. Let's step up. You ready? All right. How do we feel right now, okay?

00:53:54 - 00:53:54 | Unknown:

00:53:54 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

You ready? All right, I'm ready, too. You guys in the studio ready? We're ready. We're ready. All right, let's get it. Let's get it on. Rock. Let's do it. One, two, three. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. We'll get rock. Okay, slow down, slow down.

00:54:08 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 1:

All right. Remember, best out of three is a tie, though.

00:54:10 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 2:

Best out of three. This is no longer sudden death, okay? Let's go. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. All right, so rock has it. So that's 1-0, but it's best two out of three. Who is that?

00:54:19 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 1:

Was that Jennifer that got that?

00:54:20 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Jennifer's got it. Jennifer's got one. Let's go. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. Whoa, it's tied now. It's tied now. This is it.

00:54:29 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 1:

00:58:54 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 2:

It was pre-U for one of the Olympics. And we did leg wrestling as one of the games. And we actually had to thank our people over at Michigan Orthopedics because I think they ended up having to fix torn ACLs and stuff like that. So nice to see you guys. How are you? Good to see you. Everybody's good. What's going on? We're all good. All right. You guys want to hang out and watch Shannon do the dirty on the 30?

00:59:16 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 2:

It is.

00:59:17 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

Actually, it's a good dirty.

00:59:19 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 2:

We have a chance for you to go to Florida. It's the last qualification right now for Florida. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 00:59:44 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:59:47 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon's got everything in the Dirty on the 30 this morning. Shannon, I know there's a lot of stuff going on and some big breaking news, Kanye news.

00:59:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I cannot figure this out. So I don't know what to believe when it comes to these Kanye.

01:00:00 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 4:

west and bianca sensori divorce rumors so whispers began circulating that the couple was headed for divorce shortly after their very controversial appearance on the grammys red carpet earlier this month after his claims of dominion over her in a rant on x last week and then yesterday it was like breaking news on tmz and page six and daily mail everywhere that kanye and bianca were heading their separate ways after two years of marriage and the story was one that i don't think anybody in this room would be shocked by she's had enough the swastika shirt was the last straw she told him she just cannot be associated with that especially but just with a lot of the things that he's doing anymore um the story is that he believes that she will come back that divorce is not currently happening he's telling people she's just mad at him now the couple's rep is denying all of the divorce report saying yesterday yay and bianca are in los angeles about to enjoy valentine's day together announcements about their private life will come from them directly not unsourced rumors in the press about an hour after that came out i saw kanye and instagram posting about the definition of coercion it has since been deleted but that was weird so page six still reporting that they are divorcing.

01:01:23 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 5:

But doesn't he also still believe he's married to Kim Kardashian? So do we really believe him? Does he? He did for a long time after they split up saying that's still my wife and yada yada. So like, would we believe anything he said?

01:01:35 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying, are we, like what side are we going to pick? Are we going to pick the side of nobody can imagine her wanting to stay with him after all of this stuff? Or are we going to pick the side of she's under his finger and he's abusive and controlling? Like which one is, is he controlling her or now she is all of a sudden has a voice and wants to leave because all of his stuff. Is enough?

01:01:53 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 5:

I think they're either going to be together for forever or they'll split up in whenever and we'll get a documentary 10 years later.

01:02:00 - 01:02:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't believe that he was ever controlling her. I believe that she was in it probably for the fame of being Kanye's wife. And I think we realize now it's probably not very good to be around Kanye. So it's probably a bad look.

01:02:12 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 5:

But Julia Fox was with him for the fame. And like that. But she also admitted

01:02:16 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 4:

that thing was very orchestrated and choreographed. Right. I don't know.

01:02:20 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 2:

I think this is all choreographed. I just don't know where he's going with that horrible, you know, anti-Semitic stuff.

01:02:26 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 4:

Selena Gomez and her fiance, Benny Blanco, confirming they are releasing some new music together. After sharing a message that fans believe could be a song title, in a post on Instagram stories, Selena shared a photo of a handwritten note and it read, I said, I love you first. A couple of hours later, she wrote, I always trick you guys. My new album, I said, I love you first, with my best friend, Benny Blanco, is out on March. 21st the first song's called scared of loving you that's already out on streaming platforms if you want to check it out the kansas city chiefs have informed travis kelsey that they expect him to inform them of his intentions for next season by march 14th so is he playing or isn't he that deadline yeah that deadline is linked to the 11 and a half million dollar roster bonus that they

01:03:14 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 2:

have to pay out the next day on march 15th well and also salary cap issues that's why the jets got rid of Aaron Rodgers at the time that they did, they have to do it by a certain date. Otherwise, in NFL terms, you end up having cap issues to be able to sign other people.

01:03:28 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 4:

That joint album from Drake and Party Next Door is finally here. The Years in the Making Project. Some Sexy Songs for You is now available. 21 tracks.

01:03:37 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 2:

My son Luke says he's Team Drake all the way. Come on, bro. And thinks that Kendrick is a poser. But I will say this to you. It's funny. It's a big day for a lot of people. But will radio embrace Drake? Because Drake hasn't had like a radio.

01:04:08 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 5:

That's so crazy, bro. Out of the two of them, Kendrick is the poser?

01:04:12 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't. All his college buddies on Michigan State's campus like Drake. They grew up with Drake. So

01:04:17 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 1:

I just want to say Stay on that side, man Stay on Drake's side? No, everybody who turned on Drake Everybody who forgot What the boy has given to the game For the past 15 years Y'all want to act like y'all done forgot Because of one summer Stay on that side

You're going to Panama City Beach for spring break.

01:09:26 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

You guys are amazing. My son doesn't get to take his senior spring break this year. It's been tight, so he gets to go. Oh, my gosh.

Oh, I love that you won. He's going to be so excited.

01:09:45 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 1:

This is perfect.

01:09:47 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Where does he go to school? What high school does he go to?

01:09:50 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

He goes to Cabrini High School. I love it. And he, you know, we told him if he could get the money together, he could go. And, you know, it's...

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

It's been tight, and I can't wait until he's off today, so I can't wait to call him.

01:10:05 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 2:

Is he bummed about that? Was he upset about not being able?

01:10:11 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 1:

He's been trying. He's been trying to get the funds together and doing ads and then here and there.

01:10:17 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 2:

How close was he to it?

01:10:21 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 1:

He's about 500 short.

01:10:24 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 2:

He was waiting. He was 500 short to go with his classmates.

01:10:27 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

01:10:31 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Man, so you got this trip to Florida. Is there a way... If he got the $500, could he still go on that senior trip? He could. And I'm going to personally give you that money, and we'll put money together here. We're all going to do it. Your son's going on a senior trip. We're giving him that.

01:10:52 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Has to.

01:10:53 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 2:

All right?

01:10:57 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 1:

And you need a vacation, too. Correct. Can we call him?

01:11:01 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 2:

Call him real quick. Where is he at, Danielle? Is he right now in school?

01:11:06 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 1:

No, he's off today. He's not in school. He's at home, and I'm in the parking lot of my work crying. All right, hold on.

01:11:12 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Lydia's going to get the number. We're going to call him and see if he answers the phone. Hold on one second, okay?

01:11:17 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:11:18 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, so Danielle, you have that trip to Panama City Beach where you can have a great time with your son, And then your son's going to go with his classmates to his senior trip, too. That's the only right thing to do.

01:11:31 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 1:

For sure.

01:11:32 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to Danielle on that. Hold on a second. Lydia's in the other room, and she is grabbing that. I'll be honest with you. That senior trip that you go on, and I never did it, but my kids did it, and they got to go. That is, there's something about it. It's kind of like.

01:11:50 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 1:

It's our core memory.

01:11:51 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So, hold on a second. Can you give me some dialing music, please, while we dial? Wait, do we know his name? Did you say it? Let's see here. Hold on. I'm going to ask her for his name. No idea. Danielle, what's your son's name?

01:12:08 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Ethan.

01:12:08 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

Ethan. We're calling Ethan. Class of 2025. How cool is that?

01:12:14 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 1:

They're going to Panama. They're actually going to Panama.

01:12:18 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 2:

They are going to Panama City Beach?

01:12:19 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 1:

They are. Oh, my God. Okay, Mom, you've got to go at a different time, okay?

01:12:24 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 2:

So that you get your vacation.

01:12:26 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 1:

My husband and I will go. No, that's good. Honestly, they could be chaperones. That'd be cool.

01:12:31 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. We're going to call Ethan. How great is it that that was where they were going to go, too?

01:12:36 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 1:

Truly, we did not plan this. Ethan is not answering me again. He's probably sleeping. You've got to call twice.

01:12:41 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, dial him twice.

01:12:42 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Dial him three times.

01:12:44 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

Dial him twice. And if not, Mom, you're going to dial, and then we're going to have you conference us if she doesn't get him this time. Yeah.

01:12:51 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Ethan.

01:12:53 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Ethan, pick up the phone, you bastard. Otherwise, we're not giving you this.

01:12:58 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a neighbor that listens so I can go, like, ring the doorbell? I have my husband's home.

01:13:03 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 2:

We'll do a breaking and entering Christmas wish with a neighbor banging down the door.

01:13:10 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 1:

I'll call him from my work phone and put him in.

01:13:13 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right. Hold on. Lydia, still nothing?

01:13:16 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 1:

01:13:18 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 1:

She said her husband was home.

01:13:19 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, call your husband and then tell him.

01:13:22 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to run in.

01:13:23 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:13:24 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 1:

I've got to make sure my patients don't feed me. Hold on. No, that's okay.

01:13:28 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 2:

That's all right.

01:13:34 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 1:

We've got to wake up a TV. Okay. Bye.

01:13:40 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny is it's Friday, And honestly, I've never been happier than this moment here right now. Not because Ethan's going to go on a spring break, but because in three hours, I'm going to be in a car getting the hell out of this radio station.

01:13:58 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 1:

I thought we were having a good day. Hey, hold on. I need you to wake up, Ethan. I've got to figure out how to put you on speaker.

01:20:55 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 4:

Coming up here in a second, What is the one Valentine's gift that no woman wants? It's not flowers. It's not chocolate. We'll explain coming up here in just a little bit. So if you're a guy or girl listening and you're going to be giving somebody a Valentine's gift, you do not want to give this to them. We'll have that for you after we get done with the dirty and a chance to win Justin Timberlake tickets. Yeah. I feel like all we've been doing is contests this morning. We did that rock, paper, scissors earlier this morning. We gave away a $4,000 ring. $1,000 from Pokey Pokey and the tickets to see SZA and Kendrick Lamar, all courtesy of Lucido Fine Jewelry, Pokey Pokey, and, of course, Live Nation. And now we're going to give you a chance to win Justin Timberlake tickets. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th Caller. The show is actually February 20th, next Thursday. You got it written down because, guess what? You want tickets, you asked Tony yesterday in the show meeting. He was out there begging for tickets yesterday from Tony. Telly, and I'll wear a tuxedo because, you know, suit and tie. Oh, there you go. Oh.

01:22:01 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 3:

You want to go, Megan?

01:22:03 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 2:

To JT?

01:22:05 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:22:05 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm, yeah, I'd love to.

01:22:07 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm cleaning my apartment that day.

01:22:09 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 2:

It's a great show. I've seen him live before.

01:22:12 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 4:

We saw him at the I Heard Festival, which was great. He was so good.

01:22:15 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 2:

I have seen him twice live before. I forgot about that.

01:22:17 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 4:

Y'all never seen him with me. All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Colleen's in the studio with us.

01:22:23 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Colleen McQueen. Good up, Colleen.

01:22:26 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 4:

she is the president of iheart media radio detroit and one of the greatest people ever uh so colleen's hanging out with us so please shannon keep it clean

01:22:40 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 2:

i'm just kidding i actually got a wild test we colleen colleen is first off let me say this to

01:22:50 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 4:

I've never in my life met a person who cares more about us, and she prays. She says, like, I'm praying for you, which I know she's praying for us. But then I also know she's got a little freaky side, too. But there's got to be somewhere in there, right? What are you doing tonight? What are you guys doing for Valentine's Day? Do you guys celebrate? If I'm doing something freaky, you're not. No? Are you guys bellied up to the bar at Ocean Prime? Is that one of the things? London Child House. London Child House. She has changed her allegiance now because of our landlord, Christos. Shut up, Christos. By the way, it's so nice to have Christos in our life right now because it's tough getting reservations at restaurants. He's my resi. What's going on, Shannon?

01:23:31 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, did Kim Kardashian try to get with brand new L.A. Lakers star Luka Doncic only to get benign? TikTok seems to think so.

01:23:41 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Did Kim Kardashian just try to shoot her shot and get rejected by Luka Doncic? It looks like that might be the case. So Luka just joined the Lakers. Following the announcement, Kim posted on her story, writing, does anyone know when he will be playing? I want to meet him. But then she took it one step further. She commented on the Lakers' Instagram post, saying, I want to learn how to speak Slovenian with the biting lips emoji. Luka is from Slovenia, so that's why she commented that. And Luka actually replied, writing, no, please don't. But this is a clear indicator that she was shooting her shot, right? I mean, I don't know that she's such a huge basketball fan. The comment has since been deleted, and now everybody is like, where is Kim's comment? But if Kim did her research, she would know that Luka is a taken man. He is engaged. He's been with his fiancée, Anna Maria, since 2016. They met when they were children, and they share a baby together. And all it took was one quick Google search to learn that. One part of me thinks that this might be one big PR ploy, because why would Kim Kardashian publicly shoot her shot at a basketball player without at the very least first checking to see if he's even taken or single like would she really do that i don't know yeah because she goes to games all the time yeah she's always there but like why wouldn't you know what a good way to handle this would have been and like a fun pr move is to have the fiance be like i like i can teach you lessons you know

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 2:

You're going to have her respond to it.

01:25:02 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 4:

I saw yesterday, speaking of basketball, I saw yesterday that Cade Cunningham and Asar Thompson flew private out to San Francisco. The All-Star Game is this weekend. So they're both representing the Pistons. What is...

01:25:15 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 3:

Asar Thompson is participating in the Rising Stars Challenge. And then Cade will be participating as an All-Star on Sunday. And then also in the three-point competition on Saturday.

01:25:25 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 4:

Is Beasley in the three-point competition?

01:25:27 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 3:

No, he's not. He should be, though. That's wild because you just set that record. Yeah, the record was the second most threes made this season above Steph Curry.

01:25:35 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 2:

More Kanye Dirty this hour. Did you guys hear the story about this sex tape that he allegedly made, well, high-end drugs in 2012? No. And he paid like $250,000 to get it off the market or something. Yeah. So he was— Wait, he slept with his cousin? No, no, no, no, no. His cousin had his laptop. Oh, yeah. So he was slammed by former Hollywood fixer Kevin Blant in an Instagram post yesterday. And I saw the screenshot and I was like, blah, what is this? I mean, it's him naked from like here up. You don't see anything, but supposedly it was a screenshot from this alleged tape. And the story behind it is that he slept with a prostitute in Vegas while high on MDMA. And so the screenshot that I saw was captioned, remember that sex tape I helped take off the market for you in 2012 with that hooker in Vegas. Again, this is coming from a Hollywood fixer. um and he just like i don't even want to say the horrible things that were said in it in it but talked about how he had a small peepee and you know ended with why don't you go f your favorite person in the world yourself i mean everybody is obviously piling on kanye at the moment yesterday the senate confirmed uh my brain just blipped robert f kennedy jr as president trump's health secretary a 52 to 48 vote elevates rfk jr to secretary of the health and human services

01:27:00 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 1:

department for 20 years i've gotten up every morning on my knees and prayed that god would put me in a position where i can end the childhood chronic disease epidemic in this country On August 23rd of last year, God sent me President Trump.

01:27:22 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 4:

That voice is crazy.

01:27:23 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 2:

I heard it this morning. I know it was alarming. It makes me clear my throat. Republicans have largely embraced his vision to make America healthy again. And this is a crazy story. Everybody's going crazy looking for eggs right now because of this bird flu causing the egg shortage. And when you find eggs are so expensive. Well, just beware, because at Trader Joe's, you can purchase fertile chicken eggs. And if you do purchase them, do not put them someplace warm, as one family did. They purchased their eggs 24 days ago. And I think they decided to do, I think this story is clickbait. I think they decided to do an experiment with them and put them under a heat lamp because 24 days later, yes, the eggs hatched. And this family now has eight brand new baby chickies. Oh, there you go.

01:28:14 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Now they're feeding, they got the whole family.

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

They are safe to consume, by the way. So if you're desperate, you can go to Trader Joe's and that's what you can buy.

01:28:21 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 4:

I actually saw a story yesterday. They were talking about, you know, the bird flu and how it's taken out a lot of these hens. They're saying this bird flu, though, is not affecting the chicken we eat because there's a lot of people that are afraid to eat chicken now because they think that chickens can get bird flu. But I guess that there's a difference between the hens and the chickens as far as this flu is concerned.

01:28:42 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:28:42 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 4:

I never knew that. Because I will tell you, I've gone to restaurants. And, like, the other day I was out. And I was like, I'm going to have the chicken. And I'm like, I don't know. So I was a little. And then last night we had chicken. And I said something to Chelsea. And so she made me watch this thing. And actually, I will tell you this. So chicken, they say, is safe. So chicken's okay.

01:29:00 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 3:

Say chicken one more time, please. Chicken.

01:29:02 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know why it is that everybody is so. like nobody was eating this many eggs to begin with and we're all crazed over eggs i'll be honest with you we we all are like freaking out we're spending it's kind of like the toilet paper thing back in the day but the price is shocking it's stupid but but why was it that we all ran out to go get a bunch of toilet paper during covid when we didn't need that much toilet paper like we

01:29:25 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 2:

start hoarding this thing i agree it's nuts hey for all of this week's dirty catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:29:35 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:29:44 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 4:

Our last pair of Justin Timberlake tickets for the week goes to Brittany from Yale, Michigan. You're a winner. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up. Who are you going to go to the show with?

01:29:57 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm bringing my twin sister. Oh, this is...

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 3:

Are you guys identical, identical twins?

01:30:03 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 1:

We're not, but we do look like it. We were actually just in your studio for the Rock, Paper, Scissor contest. That's crazy. I love it. Yeah, and my sister, yep, she wanted to keep comments and see they walk home with a prize.

01:30:16 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I'm so happy you at least got something. Congratulations to you. That's incredible.

01:30:20 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 1:

We were both calling, and Stephanie couldn't get through, and I did, so it worked out. Nice.

01:30:24 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, enjoy. Have the best time. Hold on the line for one second. Awesome.

01:30:28 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 1:

Thank you guys so much.

01:30:29 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're welcome. Hold on one second. That's cool. I'd like to hear that. All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. What is the one Valentine's Day gift that no woman wants? They just did a poll of this. And when I say this, I'm going to eliminate two things you might think would be. Number one on this list is not flowers or candy, which is funny because that's like the cliche, like everybody goes and gets flowers or candy. I know some women that don't like flowers or candy. Like to them, you know, flowers are beautiful, but they die. And candy just makes them fat. And they don't want it at all. But there is one that I never really thought of until I saw this stat. The number one thing that no woman wants, stuffed teddy bears.

01:31:15 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

01:31:16 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

It topped the list of the number one thing that women say they hate when their guy gets them that.

01:31:23 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 5:

Especially if it's Build-A-Bear. I've already said that, like, skeeves me out so bad.

01:31:27 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 4:

Why y'all don't like it? Build-A-Bear in particular? Both of you and Megan had something to say about the stuffed bears.

01:31:35 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 5:

Well, for me personally, whenever a boy that I was dating gave me a stuffed animal in a relationship, we both broke up right afterward.

01:31:43 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really?

01:31:44 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 5:

It was just like the kiss of death. And they were always Build-A-Bear.

01:31:47 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 3:

Please tell me nothing recently.

01:31:48 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 5:

Named with a birth certificate. Weird.

01:31:50 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 3:

This was like when you were young.

01:31:53 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 5:

High school, college.

01:31:55 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 3:

High school and college.

01:31:56 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 4:

high school and college though did they because you could put like voices in them right yes yeah did they say something sexy in them no at least the college one no and for me it's like what do

01:32:06 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 6:

you want me to do with it because do you want it to sit out on display i'm not going to display it so that but i have to hold on to it for a certain amount of time before i can get rid of it so i don't hurt your feelings so it's going to sit in a closet until you come over and then it's going to sit somewhere awkward and then i'm going to hide it as soon as you leave again i feel like

01:32:23 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

the intention is for you to have something that when you look at it, you think of me.

01:32:29 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 6:

I would rather truly you get like a ring from Walmart that I can wear every day than a stuffed

01:32:35 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

animal.

01:32:35 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 5:

Or give me one of your sweatshirts that smells like you.

01:32:37 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 3:

You could probably got that already though. Okay, here's what I want to throw out there. Are there any adults that have teddy bears or have stuffed animals?

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 5:

That are not from your childhood.

01:32:47 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that are not from your childhood. Like you like them.

01:32:49 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 5:

No, because seriously, like some people save their childhood stuffed animal and I understand that.

01:32:52 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

Because that story came out about Bill the Bear doing an adult version. The cougar. The cougar.

01:32:58 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 6:

That was very funny. Did you watch the ad?

01:33:00 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 3:

Was that a joke? Yes. It was?

01:33:02 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 6:

I mean, they have a cougar bear, but it was just a silly ad, but it was very funny.

01:33:08 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 3:

I remember the second date update where the guy went back to her house, and they were going to have sex. They go to her bedroom, and she had a bed full of stuffed animals, and he said it was just so weird because she was like a 30 year old or 28 year old or something girl and she had all these stuffed animals and he was just so weirded out by that. But those like squish marbles or

01:33:29 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 5:

whatever are like super popular with adults right now too. Really? Well and jelly cats. Everybody collects jelly cats right now. I kind of like jelly cats. What are jelly cats? Show me a picture. Jelly cats are really cute like so soft stuffed animals and they have everything like Lucy has a toilet paper roll jelly cat but then she also has like bunnies and they have jelly cat um kitchens where you can go and they'll like pretend cook your jelly cat pancakes and oh my god sandwiches they have everything but they're very expensive for like lucy's age but if there was like no there are adults really that drop some money on jelly cats i need to talk to you are

01:34:08 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 3:

you the same people that did beanie babies back in the day 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 I always felt like it was ladies named Helen that had Beanie Babies.

01:34:17 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 4:

Not Helen.

01:34:18 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 3:

For some reason, they were always crazed over these Beanie Babies things. What's up, Eric? How you doing?

01:34:25 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my wife got me a long time ago. She got me one of those stuffed monkey because she calls me stud monkey or whatever. Now the cat just chews on it or whatever. But you know what's worse than stuffed animals? What's that? It's the presence that you have to maintain throughout your relationship.

01:34:43 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:34:44 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

like oh god i had to do it for years it was terrible my wife got me like one of these admit one boxes she and she's like it's cute because anytime we go to like an event like a movie or a concert you can add a ticket to it and i'm like so glad that ever since

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 5:

they got rid of tickets and now i'm like oh well they're all electronic that is funny i always say

01:35:06 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 2:

chia pets i'm gonna get chelsea a chia pet today you know those things are underrated you gotta you gotta have that i think the funniest is the the people like will go out last minute go to in you know i love kroger and obviously i promoted them in the last commercial break saying hey if you forget something for your spouse but when you go down the valentine aisle not everything should be put in your cart for a for a thing and you see some of the stuff that's in there and if i went if I went down the aisle and they had like the stuffed animal bear that's attached to a bunch of like a little mini balloon or yeah like Chelsea would be like you wasted money on that like you

01:35:40 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 3:

should look at me like I was nuts for doing we were FaceTiming Wes's sister last night and her husband walked in and she was like Carlo please do not go to the gas station and get me any more roses this year like she was just like gas station flowers no I'd rather not they're paper flowers too aren't they at the gas station i have no idea but they were like arguing back and forth and it

01:36:01 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 2:

was so chelsea would be happier if i got her the hot dog that's on the spinny wheel thing at the gas station than she would if i got her a flower from speedway what's up jennifer hi hi first time

01:36:14 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 6:

I was one of those crazy beanie baby people. Were you really? I was about to say. Yeah, so I used to work at the Bank of America across from Somerset.

01:36:30 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah.

01:36:32 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 6:

We would take shifts, and we would take our breaks and go to Nordstrom's and wait for them to bring them out.

01:36:39 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

They sold beanie babies at Nordstrom's?

01:36:42 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 6:

They did. They did.

01:36:44 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 2:

Interesting.

01:36:44 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 6:

We would text each other what they have, and we would grab for whoever. Like, we did this all the time. Like, it was an obsession.

01:36:52 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 2:

That's so funny. I did not know that. For some reason, I always pictured Beanie Babies at McDonald's. Oh, the little minis. Those are cute.

01:37:00 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 6:

Those are the mini ones. Those are the minis.

01:37:04 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 2:

And then there would always be somebody that would be selling them at flea markets and stuff like that. Like, they would be trying to make a bunch of money. The trade center had a ton of them.

01:37:13 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 1:

I want to go back to what you said, though, about these damn teddy bears.

01:37:17 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:37:17 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 1:

We live in a world where people love to say it's the thought that counts.

01:37:21 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:37:22 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 1:

If you get anything for Valentine's Day, you need to shut up, say thank you, and be appreciative that you have somebody that thought about you and wants to show you love. No. How dare I think about you on Valentine's Day, provide something for you, and then you look at me and say, this isn't what I wanted, or you're disgusting because I got you a teddy bear? Would you rather have nothing? No, I don't want you to waste your money. I don't want you to be wasteful. That's not wasteful, though.

01:37:44 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

You know if you're buying a teddy bear for them. You didn't think about them until five minutes before you were going over to her house.

01:37:48 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 1:

I could have walked in the house with nothing.

01:37:51 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 2:

I'd prefer it.

01:37:51 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 1:

No, you wouldn't.

01:37:52 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

You wouldn't complain. Stop playing. Kevin, you're telling me. So it is. It's true. You're wasting money on that.

01:37:58 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 1:

No, how's it a waste if it's a token of my love and affection for you? Because it's not a token of love. How much token?

01:38:04 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 4:

I promise you, I swear on my children and my dogs, if Wes came home with the Build-A-Bear tonight i would i get tears in my eyes and say please put it in the donation bin i would rather have nothing if he came with jelly cat and said baby okay jelly cat is different jelly cat different

01:38:20 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 2:

i'd call a divorce attorney at that point that's what i would do what's up misfit victor is on with us right now morning the man of love good morning as my kids as my daughter would say happy

01:38:31 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 5:

valentine's day oh that's cute um yeah you know instead of a i'd rather have a pizza heart-shaped pizza than a teddy bear but the ultimate worst the ultimate worst gift is and a long time ago my uh my brother-in-law had a girlfriend that made him do this is the uh the hands where you you you put your hands together and put it in this pot of clay or something yeah yeah that is the worst because you i mean holding hands fine but you guys sit there and hold hands together for like

01:39:07 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 4:

10 minutes and it's going to be on your mantle for 10 years do you really yeah it's like honestly

01:39:16 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 5:

well you couldn't name a star after me for god's sake like that's the other thing oh look i named

01:39:21 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 3:

the star after you thank you i i like that more than the hand molds and the teddy bear victor

01:39:28 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 2:

what are you going to get for tina what's going to be your special gift for her well i i got roses

01:39:33 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 5:

that's it and then uh i mean that's it i mean that's so not creative though yeah but we've been at it for like we've been together for so you don't even try anymore do you you don't even try no it's like you and chelsea on christmas and anniversaries and swedish day and stuff like that it's just you know it becomes whatever i always say that chelsea and i have a thing we

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

don't buy each other gifts we buy just whatever we want and say this one's from you

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 5:

So I did take her to Chick-fil-A last night, but did you use your Chick-fil-A points?

01:40:08 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 1:

No, not one, not one. I can honestly say that.

01:40:10 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 5:

That is love. Uh, what's going on? Uh, how are you doing, Kim? What's happening?

01:40:17 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

01:40:18 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 5:

Hi, what's up?

01:40:19 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 6:

Uh, first time, long time. Hey there, Kim's on the phone. I was just saying that when I was, when my kids were little, they would do the whole Build-A-Bear thing. And I used to shop at Goodwill quite a bit, you know, looking for toys and stuff. And I found a Build-A-Bear there. And so I got it for my son. And about maybe a month later, we found out that if you squeezed it, it said, I love you, Lisa.

01:40:51 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 5:

Poor Lisa. Lisa brought it over there. That's funny. Terry, what's going on? What's the gift for Valentine's Day?

01:40:59 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

The gas station rose made out of lace underwear. Yeah.

01:41:04 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 5:

That's real love. Is that really true? Kevin says don't complain because it's the thought that counts. No. Listen.

01:41:13 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 2:

And I thought about not wearing them.

01:41:17 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 4:

You thought about it. Nothing screams love like 10 on 2 in a pair of lace underwear.

01:41:22 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 5:

Dustin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:41:25 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you guys doing this morning?

01:41:27 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's up?

01:41:28 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 3:

I agree with Kev. If I bring home anything at all, come on. It seems so ungrateful for you to be like, oh, well, I don't like what you brought home. But you guys build a bear. You're building the bear. Exactly. If that's not a great gift, I'm sorry. That takes time and effort.

01:41:49 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 5:

Come on. You build the bear for her. I have to pull that. Oh, my God. Sierra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:41:57 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, come here. Come listen here. I'm here. You're not just going to get no teddy bear and say, you better be happy that I got you something. It's a thought. Yeah, it's a thought that counts. But we're all adults. Like, come on. Be thoughtful. Give me something that I'm really going to say. Dang, babe, you really put some thought into this. Instead of just throwing a teddy bear at me.

01:42:15 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 4:

No, no, I'm not saying you just show up with a bear in the bag and say happy, you know, Valentine's Day. but you got to have something.

01:42:21 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 5:

Sierra, hold on a second. Bethany has a comment to make that you're going to like. Bethany, what did you want to say to Kevin?

01:42:28 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 6:

It feels a lot like maybe Kevin got somebody a teddy bear for Valentine's Day.

01:42:33 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

No, no.

01:42:34 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 6:

Because you guys are all rubs to him about it. He got somebody a teddy bear and he wants them to be happy. He better be thankful.

01:42:43 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Do you think he did that this year? And he's now like, oh, crap. Yeah, I think he did. I think he's got it in his backpack.

01:42:50 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 1:

This year, I'm going to spend Valentine's Day with my true love. Food. Mmm, food. Happy Valentine's Day from Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:43:15 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning show kev how is uh our guy doing is uh josiah doing okay i don't know

01:43:25 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 4:

i i've been planning to get josiah like one of those watches or something watch yeah he doesn't have a cell phone so this morning uh when i was leaving his he was like on fire like his body was extremely warm and extremely hot and um he hasn't really been like the most affectionate person but he was like no come back come here come on so i put up twitter on uh his computer and opened up a dm so he could like dm me so i've been dm dming him and i can tell he's

01:43:56 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 5:

seen the messages but he hasn't responded so okay who knows uh josiah is an amazing kid is honestly josiah is one of those like kids that are adults like he's like a little adult true he can say things that i can't even say like you know what i mean and he and he speaks his mind and he says some things to you that's some sometimes catch you off guard don't they yeah i mean we had a

01:44:17 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

conversation last week because josiah's getting to that age where it's less about spending time with me and more about doing his own thing and um like yesterday he was watching some new anime show he's into i don't know the name of it but he was up there for like a couple hours i'm like man like you know i don't get to spend every day with josiah so like at least allow me to spend this time with him and watch the show he's like uh i kind of just want to watch it by myself like i want my own thing like he's at that age where i'm not cool enough um but josiah and i periodically we would do like these check-ins and i used to ask him to like give me like a grade like what's my report card as a parent like how am i doing and we haven't done that in a while so i made him turn off the show come lay on the foot of my bed and like let's check in like how are things like How am I as a dad?

01:45:00 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 3:

how am i as a parent he's like i mean like i i give you an a not an a plus but i give you like he gave you a great grade but he didn't give you the best yeah he makes sure to like do like differentiate between the two did you ask him like why not of course i i i'm like so well i try to like break it down like well how is our communication how am i from you know an educational standpoint how like i try to like dial it down and um one thing that he said in particular that was like really interesting he was like I know that I'm smart and I get 4.0s and everybody tells me that I'm smart but it's almost like you guys take that for granted it's almost like you just expect me to be smart so when I get 4.0s like I don't get rewarded I don't get told that like I did a good job or anything like that and he was like that and that hurts like I want to be recognized even though I'm smart like I'm still doing the right thing I was like damn so in my mind and i don't even know if this is the right way i'm like do you feel like you should get rewarded for things that you're supposed to do yeah well yeah because i don't like that we're calling it supposed to do i feel like he's supposed to like in my mind if you have the capabilities to get a 4.0 then that is what you're supposed to get like yeah yeah but we reward kids

01:46:19 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 4:

for like athletics right and some kids can just be naturally gifted at it and some kids have to work really, really hard at it, but everybody gets the reward if they win. And I think in academics, there are kids who bust their absolute butt off to get good grades and they get really praised by the people around them. People say, I know that you're working really hard. I'm really proud of you. And I feel like kids who are just naturally smart get like, well, I expected this

01:46:44 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 5:

of you. And I don't think it's fair. This still affects me today as an adult, because I, I worked my butt off to get really good grades and i i remember on report card day i would come home and i'd still be excited if i got all ears or 4.0 whatever and i would put my my little report card on the counter and i would be like look mom i got 4.0 and she'd be like you better it was always those two words you better yeah and i i think that i i again still think about it that i just longed for more of i didn't i didn't need to like be rewarded with a thing with a material real thing but just like some sort of words of affirmation would have been and to mega's point

01:47:26 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 3:

i use that exact same analogy now i was like joe if you were a c-minded individual and you worked extremely hard and you got a b plus like because of your efforts yeah i would award you because you did more than what you had the capability or the ability to do but if you are a 4.0 minded individual you don't have to work extremely hard you're not staying up till 9 p.m at night to extra study like that's what you're supposed to do and i'm not the type of parent that just blows it off like when i praise josiah like his nickname is 4.0 joe like we we do all of that stuff and i'm kind of like i have to ask him like well i think he just wants more robux if i had to like be honest with you he's trying to like outsmart me and be like this is the way that i need it oh you think he's trying to get the soft side i feel like that's what it is but there is some truth to it because his therapist has said this also that he's he he he doesn't just want to be recognized for one thing and by everybody telling him he's smart he has he understands that there's

01:48:19 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 4:

more to him than just his intelligence yeah i actually think it can be super detrimental to children to only tell them that they're smart or only tell them like praise that one trait i know a kid who only got praise for being smart his whole life and then as soon as he failed at something he thought he was just like a bad person because his identity that's your identity right

01:48:41 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 2:

is being smart i as as a dad i know what i a dad i like that's how we say it in allen park um we say dad but the thing i like uh i like about this whole thing is that uh you have this communication with him to be able to talk about this and because i i i love that and i like that you ask ask him what kind of uh you know a parent you are and you know i know shannon said that she

01:49:10 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 5:

does that with the kids too i always ask the question of like bedtime is the best because i feel like they're both really open at bedtime and i always ask the question of what what would make me a better mom for you specifically lucy for example and her answers sometimes i'm like oh like they're they strike a chord recently it's been i wish you wouldn't interrupt me so much when i'm trying to talk to you wow um and then you say shut up kid but honestly like they they tell you things and you're like that i i see that it's it's a tough pill to swallow sometimes the

01:49:46 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

thing i respect so much in my wife chelsea because she's definitely the better parent of the two of us is i love that as now the kids are adult kids she's actually sat down with each one of them and said to them if there is something that i or your dad has done

01:49:59 - 01:50:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:50:00 - 01:50:31 | Speaker 5:

that has ever hurt you or affected you we just want you to know that we appreciate you so much and we love you and we're sorry and honestly to see them like say wow thank you for just apologizing for pre-apologizing before that even comes up because you know as a person who's in therapy and talks about you know things that happened in my childhood you wish that your parents would have acknowledged that because my parents were of the generation where my dad had no clue i don't think at all that some of his actions affected me and i think sometimes when

01:50:31 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 3:

you bring that up with parents i think oh i i didn't do anything right as a kid and that's not it either we can be grateful for you to be our parent and say that hurt my feelings yeah hey

01:50:39 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 1:

chelsea what's up hey mojo first time long time um so my daughter maya and i um listen to you guys every morning five at uh the five at 655 but um kev what you're talking about spoke to me because i have a seventh grader she works her butt off she's also an athlete um and so she's working her butt off to get a's and um so every a that she gets we give her 20 bucks and so i just had to dish out 120 bucks because of her report card and i was like um it was a good idea but then i was kicking myself because i'm like now i owe you 120 well shout out to her first and foremost for

01:51:23 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

kicking it into gear question for you and then question for y'all also how how can you encourage your children to do best or to live at the level that they are capable of living at but not make them reward-based individuals not to only do things for the prize but to do it because they

01:51:39 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 1:

have the capability of doing it like how do you do that so well i'm a teacher so she hold my daughter first off she works her butt off even last year we didn't reward this is the first time I've ever rewarded her for her grades I've never given her money before um but her dad and I sat down and talked about it and I was like you know she's really working hard and we would typically just tell her like oh good job you know we're proud of you but this year I kind of wanted to give her something else so she's always been one of those kids that's self-motored to get those good grades And so I was like, why not give her something for it? Now, my younger one, I don't know if she'll be so self-motivated.

01:52:18 - 01:52:31 | Speaker 3:

But what's wrong with working towards a reward? Like, even as adults at our jobs, we work hard so we can get a raise or a bonus. Or, like, what's wrong with working towards that?

01:52:31 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 4:

I think the intention and the seed that you're planting has purpose and has meaning. I think the why behind the reason why you're doing something matters. Like, for example, if like we talk about Valentine's Day is the only reason I'm getting you a gift is so I can get some at the end of the day. Then I don't think that's right. Right. But.

01:52:52 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 3:

What was I about to say? I just lost all. When it comes to school and grades and working hard.

01:52:58 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 4:

I think rewards are amazing, but I think the reward should just be you living up to your purpose and your potential. Like you like when I come on this radio show, like I don't turn it on so we can get like number one. Like I'm, I'm who I am every single day. I don't do it because I want to get a bonus.

01:53:12 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 5:

And also I, I believe like the reward part of like, even this is an example of a job. There are certain things you do because that's just part of the job. And then there are those that are above and beyond. And that's where I believe that the bonus and all that stuff comes into play because not everyone is going to attain what, you know, not everybody's going to get A's and A pluses. And I do think that for you to expect that they're always just going to get a's and a pluses i always say i expect of you just that you're a good person because i'd rather have you be a good person than be a person that you know and honestly i think that sometimes like my parents my mom used to reward me for my conduct score there was a we got it was one through five and if you got a five you were great in your conduct and if you if you got anything less and if i got a five my mom would throw me a five you know what i mean so it was one of those situations and honestly i was not a great student but she said i don't care what kind of grade you got what's up alex how you doing i'm doing great okay thank you what's that what's happened it doesn't sound

01:54:14 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

like it but that's all right you know what i just parked my car that's why oh that's okay what's going on what did you want to say i just wanted to say that i i agree with you guys that there should be affirmation but i think the word capability was used in a misconstruing way because in my belief system, everybody is capable of greater things if they push and strive towards it. Me, for example, a year ago, I was a type 2 diabetic taking nine oral medications and then having to inject insulin. Within a year, I have dropped down on over 100 pounds, and I'm down to only having to take one oral medication. If you push yourself, you can do great things.

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, that's interesting. So the word capable, you believe, diminishes them as kids.

01:55:07 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

Because it just diminishes their ability of going above and beyond. If they're capable of doing something, you're setting a standard for minimizing their potential.

01:55:18 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. That's an interesting thought. I mean, it really is an interesting thought that, hey, you're capable of this. But honestly, then you're saying that that's all they're capable of. he's saying the a because you can survive you can actually surpass being an a student by doing other things that you you know and i don't know if you understand what he just said so he's like you can do and i think josiah i will say this about josiah josiah is way more than just a good student first off he's an amazing personality he is probably one of the most creative because usually you see somebody that's really good students not really creative you know usually they're just book smart and that kid has got like he is so well-rounded um and it's amazing it's amazing what he is like i'm telling you you have a conversation with josiah and you will be blown away by just the the fact that he knows so many different things he's very diverse in his uh in

01:56:12 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 5:

his knowledge what's up arielle hi yeah so i um actually studied psychology in undergrad and grad school and i remember some research talking about praising the effort versus making it identity based so giving praise by saying you work so hard versus you're so smart because uh to the point that was being made before it does become identity based when you say you're so smart and then they fail at something then all of a sudden it's oh i'm not smart anymore versus i can just work harder

01:56:42 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 3:

wow where'd you go to school um michigan state wow go green exactly go white that's that is that is really uh really awesome to hear you say that uh naya what's up it's mojo in the morning show this is a topic that i didn't expect on a friday but this is a wild what's going on naya hello

01:57:01 - 01:57:35 | Speaker 2:

what's happening um nothing i just think that it should i don't want to use the word like rewarded but i do think that it keeps them motivated especially because he's so young and that's how I was, like a 4-0 student, but I don't know. It just was instilled. I didn't expect nothing out of it, so I get, like, what Mojo was saying, you work extra harder for the bonuses. But I do think you should reward him, even if it's something small. Like, I would do that, or I would get that when I was younger. Like, for every A, you get $10.

01:57:35 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:57:36 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 2:

And my people give me $10 every A, so I would get A.

01:57:40 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Can I tell you another reward thing that I've heard friends of mine do with their kids, which I think is kind of cool? They don't do rewards as far as money is concerned or buying gifts and stuff like that. They give them rest days. So they say, you work really, really hard. Do this. I'll let you take one day from school that you can just have as your free day, which I thought was a really interesting thing because it is kind of a way to say to them. You put a lot of hours into what you're doing, and then I'll give you one freebie day that you can pick whenever you want to pick.

01:58:10 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 4:

Day, you faked sick last week. What a great way to heat balance.

01:58:15 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 3:

This is Josiah today. Josiah's home right now. No, I think Josiah's really. He put a heating pad all over him. I used to do that when I was a kid. I'd get 12 blankets, put it on me, and say, Mom, I got a. What's up, Corey?

01:58:28 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, man. We need you off your meds at least once a week. You are on fire today, my man. Look at this guy. Watch out. We can call it. Look, I got it. We can make it a bit. We can call it Off Meds Monday. Oh, my God.

01:59:31 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

So is it kind of like a detriment as a girl to make more money than the guys that you're dating um my girlfriend who i'm so proud of has really been working her butt off for this really amazing new job that she has and it came with a whole new life for her and she was very ready for this stage of her life and she deserves this but she got a new job a new apartment new stuff

02:00:00 - 02:00:31 | Speaker 3:

everywhere like she is just blossoming and growing and she has noticed that her dating style and life is much different and the reaction she's getting from guys is much different coming to this new apartment than they did from the old apartment because the old apartment she was more on par with the guys that she was dating financially and this new apartment she's doing better than the guys that she's dating and she's finding that she is not getting the long term like once they see

02:00:31 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 5:

the place guys drop off really yes so guys don't like the idea that she's got a nicer place than them she's doing better financially interesting why would guys be that shallow that's just well you know what i get it they're just you know i don't understand but i think that's a thing

02:00:47 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

for guys that it's very intimidating if somebody that they're dating is you know has more money in their bank account or more in their paycheck than them that's like when ladies say that's that little

02:00:58 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 5:

dick energy yeah that's by the way um i wonder if the opposite is true if a girl sees a guy that's not doing as well as them does that turn they're not even talking to old boy what do you think

02:01:11 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 4:

really like these ladies ain't looking for no brokey really stop playing you don't think so come on now megan i dated a guy without a job for a long time that was a while ago

02:01:22 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but. New Megan ain't doing that. New Megan's going for a guy with a.

02:01:26 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 3:

New Megan is just, doesn't want to be alone. It's hard in the city. I'm telling you, I'm having a difficult time lately. It is hard. The city, by the way, is built for two. It's wild. I had a much easier time being single not here than I did being single here.

02:01:43 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 5:

Can I ask you a question? Are you talking about a real friend of yours or is this you that you're talking about?

02:01:48 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 3:

No, a real friend. She's kidding. It's really actually annoying.

02:01:52 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 5:

Because the reason why I ask that is you do have a great place. You do have a really cool job and everything's good. And I'm wondering if maybe you're being faced with seeing guys that don't look at that as a positive or maybe are intimidated by that. Because I can see where that could happen.

02:02:08 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 3:

Two things. Let's be honest. If you're living downtown, everybody's got nice places.

02:02:13 - 02:02:14 | Speaker 4:

There's some nice places. Yeah.

02:02:15 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 3:

And two, I also think it's kind of an age thing. and i don't want to be discriminatory towards age but i think people my age don't really care who's making more money you're just like looking for your person she's significantly younger than me oh really yeah hey so she's dating guys in their early mid-20s it's such a confidence thing

02:02:32 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 1:

like okay so if you're if you're a female and you're dating somebody that makes less money than you like you at least just want that person to be confident about who they are and what they do do you know what i mean yes that to me is so much more attractive than if you're making A bajillion dollars. Correct.

02:02:48 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Garrett, go ahead. Let's take the call.

02:02:50 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 5:

No, okay, Yoshi, what up? What do you think, Yoshi? Do you mind if a girl...

02:02:53 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning, everybody. Morning. Let me tell you guys something. I personally do not mind. I don't care. I'm dating her. I know the one who's going to be on me or herself.

02:03:07 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 5:

So you actually look at that as a positive, then, if a woman has her crap together, huh?

02:03:14 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

i see it as if she's a hard worker why why not okay all right see that that's an open-minded

02:03:22 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 5:

guy right there you a single man we got courtney what's going on hey guys so i was just saying

02:03:29 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 6:

uh to lydia i feel like guys will try to take advantage when you make more than them and they see that you're very ambitious they kind of see it like you can be the breadwinner which it's fine like that you make more than them but that's a good point where they'll just like they think like okay well then i can just like slack off and i don't have to be ambitious anymore it's like no i want to build with you i want us to both be ambitious so if you bring a guy back to your

02:03:54 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 5:

place you got a nice place nice car nice job everything like that that could actually make

02:03:59 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 6:

the guy take advantage of you you're saying yeah that worked both ways like sugar mama

02:04:05 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 5:

Why do you think that that happens to guys?

02:04:07 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 6:

Both ways, though.

02:04:08 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:04:08 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 4:

Hell, yeah. You should see a dude, he's doing well, and they think, okay, maybe I can just chill. Maybe he can take care of me.

02:04:15 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that girls do that? You think girls take care of them? Absolutely. Yeah.

02:04:19 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But I think, to Megan's point, I think a little bit of this is how we were raised. Like, you're raised to be the man of the house, the one that's the provider, the one that's taking care of the woman and everything financially, you know, goes through you. You're paying the bills and all of that. Like, I think a lot of that is just the mentality in which society is the social construct we've all agreed to.

02:04:42 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 5:

You're a single guy. Could you see yourself dating like a doctor? I would love to, for sure. Really? Yeah. Without a doubt. So that would be not intimidating for you.

02:04:51 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 3:

Executives, VPs, holler at me.

02:04:53 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:04:53 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 5:

What, Megan?

02:04:54 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think for the longest time, like, I was striving for, like, success, and now I'm just striving for happiness.

02:05:00 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 5:

And I think there's like an age or a time or a phase in your life where it switches from, I'm looking for financial stability to just, things work out in the end. I'm in this stage of life right now where it's like, things always seem to find a way. Like, I'd rather just be happy.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 6:

Adnan, what's up?

02:05:19 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Long time, long time. Hey, Adnan on the phone.

02:05:23 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 6:

We're bringing out, I love it. Yoshi, Adnan, where are we broadcasting to today? I like it. It's the melting pot. What's happening?

02:05:30 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 4:

uh not much man i just feel like uh if you have a great partner when you are both done you got each other so at the end of the day like you know i i have a girlfriend right now and i was down i lost my job and thought she was there for me and uh and now you know i have the job and uh she's kind of unemployed at the moment so i have her so it kind of goes i like it you guys that is actually

02:05:52 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 6:

a big plus when you are in a relationship and that's also a hard thing too like if you're in relationship and then they lose their job you feel you know what are you responsible for both yeah what's up Tori hi hi first time long time

02:06:05 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 2:

so when I first met my husband he always talked about how he wanted to be a stay-at-home dad and eight years down the road he always brags to all of his friends that he's a stay-at-home trophy husband slash stay at home dad so honestly i think it's just stereotypical in our society nowadays that you know it's you know it's said that a man has to make more than women but nowadays i feel like women are more of the breadwinner breadwinners nowadays it's cool

02:06:40 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 6:

that's really nice though that you guys were able to accomplish that and you're happy with that so that's uh and we had that well i won't even bring it up but we had that war of the roses where the poor stay-at-home guy got cheated on but yeah what's up marisa hi uh it's mary marisa how are

02:06:56 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 3:

you mary marisa what's going on um so uh way back when i was single and i was still working full time my old partner when i was working i'm a pharmacist so he would tell me don't tell the guys what you do for a living or how much you make um and uh he said it used to irritate him when women made more money than him or were smarter than him. That was the advice.

02:07:24 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 6:

Mary Marisa, was he an ethnic guy? Because sometimes ethnic guys get a little crazed like that. Yeah, they do. Nope. Really? What do you mean, Lydia?

02:07:32 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 1:

Kaldian men do this in specifics.

02:07:34 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 6:

Kaldian men don't like when their girls are doing great?

02:07:36 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 1:

They do not like when women are in a position of power or greatness. I think it's across the board. Well, this is just from my experience and my culture.

02:07:45 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 6:

It screws up their manhood, you're saying, when they feel like their girl's got it going on?

02:07:52 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. That's why I'm changing my type.

02:07:54 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 6:

What do you mean you're changing your type?

02:07:55 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm changing my type. I'm going to start dating American guys, Mojo. I say white guys. Oh, my God.

02:08:02 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she always calls them white boys. Oh, you go white?

02:08:04 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 5:

I am. Okay. Once you go white, you're going to go right back.

02:08:08 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 6:

Come on. That's an interesting thought, though.

02:08:12 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 1:

You're huge. Does your mama know that I've changed?

02:08:15 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 4:

So you're playing in the snow now

02:08:17 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Does George know My dad doesn't care he's like just get married Or do something

02:08:22 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Are you only going white or are you doing other things

02:08:26 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Maybe we'll mix it up a bit

02:08:27 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 5:

Is there somebody in mind Already Maybe

02:08:31 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 6:

Got you a little backstreet boy

02:08:35 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god

02:08:38 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 6:

That is interesting though She's right about the Chaldean guys Because I could see where Chaldean guys would be like Taken by that Like, they would be like, oh, she's like a Keldean guy dating a doctor, you know, or a lawyer or a pharmacist or something like that. It's something about boss women, man. Who's not attracted to bosses, bro? Kevin wants them. Kevin, by the way, I just want you to know, all these doctors and lawyers are hitting you up right now. Chick with a pantsuit with a nice ass?

02:09:02 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 5:

That's all we have to do? Athletes. You don't want an athlete. You're right. No, you're right. You're right. Just somebody nice would be nice. We should do this. There is a nice guy right there.

02:09:13 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 6:

I'm pointing. Let's do the 401k dating show where everybody's got to have a good 401k and they've got to show us that they've got a good 401k. If you've got that, you can date one of the people on the Mojo in the Morning show. Hey, we've got a last prize to give away this morning. Tickets to see the weekend if you would like to go. We've got tickets. Yes, we do. Here we go. Text the win. Text Starboy. Make it one word, S-T-A-R-B-O-Y to 95500. That is Starboy. Make sure it's one word, S-T-A-R-B-O-Y to 95500. And standard text and data rates to apply. You could be going to see The Weeknd. That show, again, is at Ford Field. All these shows are Ford.

02:10:00 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 2:

field these people at ford field there's a lot of shows over there all right that's a big place by the way it's funny uh i'm one of those guys i like to go see the fillmore shows and stuff like

02:10:12 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 3:

that like i see the small little venues yeah yeah and the other night i was downtown and uh wycd was

02:10:17 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 2:

doing their little country show and i saw uh tim roberts uh uh post that they were out there and i was like going would it be weird if i called up the guy program guy from another radio station And I said, hey, I'm down here just sitting around. I'll go to a show. And I'd do the whole thing. And then I thought to myself, I don't know. I would look like I was, you know, desperate and stuff. I don't know. It's like the people that work at a restaurant go into another restaurant on their day off. You know what I mean? Like you're a waitress at J. Alexander's. You ain't going to Red Coat.

02:10:51 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 3:

But you know what? I also don't think you're just eating J. Alexander's for the rest of your life.

02:10:54 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 2:

That's all I eat. I eat nothing but iHeartRadio. That's all I eat is iHeartRadio.

02:11:00 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:11:03 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, what do you got? The last dirty of the week, guys. Give it up for the last dirty of the week. Don't clap for this one. Wait to see if she does a good job. Go ahead.

02:11:12 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, Justin Bieber reigniting those rumors of something going on in his marriage to Haley after commenting on one of Kiki Palmer's Instagram posts.

02:11:23 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Kiki Palmer.

02:11:24 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 3:

So if you look at Kiki's Instagram, it's the photo of her. She's got the cute Burberry headscarf and the sunglasses. And Bieber commented, she said, I'm popping out. And then the little smiley face emoji with the heart eyes. Do we think they have something coming out together? I don't know. But of course, Kiki's fans went wild. Bieber's fans are wondering what the heck is going on. I wonder if they have a song. I hope it's that. Yeah. But amid all of these rumors that something's going on between him and Hailey, It's just like, ew, that they don't look that great. No, I'm with you. Someone whose marriage is definitely in trouble, Kanye West. If you heard yesterday, the rumor going around that Kanye and Bianca Sensori are getting divorced. So I am hearing that from more people than I'm hearing the opposite. The rumors began circulating that the couple was headed for Splitsville shortly after their very controversial appearance on the Grammys red carpet earlier this month. after all of these claims that he's very controlling, that he has dominion over her, which he ranted about on X last week. So yesterday, the headline was coming through all over the place in the afternoon, from Page Six, from TMZ, from Daily Mail. I was getting it from everywhere. And the story is that she's had enough. The swastika T-shirt after the Super Bowl was the last straw. She just said, I cannot be associated with this any longer. Now, their rep is denying these reports. And he made a statement yesterday saying, Ye and Bianca are in L.A. They're about to enjoy Valentine's Day together. Any announcements about their private life will come from them directly. Not unsourced rumors in the tabloid. So, I don't know.

02:13:10 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 1:

What do you think?

02:13:12 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 3:

What do you think? I would say it would not surprise me if they're divorcing. Same.

02:13:18 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 2:

I think, what's the next story?

02:13:22 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 3:

You know, like this dirty soap.

02:13:24 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, I like your dirties. I'm just, I'm Kanye'd out this week. I'm Kanye'd out. I never thought in my life I'd ever wish for another Jason Baldoni, uh, Blake Lively story. Please.

02:13:39 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

I actually had one today and I didn't do it because I know you yell at me. Um, no, so let's talk about Selena Gomez. Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco confirming they are collabing on some new music together. She wrote on Instagram yesterday, my new album, I Said I Love You First, with my best friend, Benny Blanco, is out on March 21st. And we actually already got their single or one of the songs, Scared of Loving You. That's on streaming platforms as of this morning.

02:14:04 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 1:

Now, this is an album, right? Yes. Is the cover art going to be their wedding photos?

02:14:10 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

I know, I think they're already married. I think they're already married, too.

02:14:14 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 2:

By the way, nobody cares about any music today except for Drake. That's all we're caring about. Drake, by the way, rumor has it that Drake's going to be doing the NBA All-Star game this weekend.

02:14:24 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

02:14:25 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:14:25 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh. But they should. If he was smart, he would.

02:14:28 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 2:

If he was smart, they would have him do the NBA All-Star game as a follow-up to the NFL getting Kendrick Lamar.

02:14:36 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 3:

And the Kansas City Chiefs have informed Travis Kelsey that they expect him to inform them of his intentions for next season by March 14th. So there is a deadline. That deadline linked to the $11.5 million roster bonus they have to pay out the following day on the 15th. So, what? Why are you looking at me? Oh, you made a face like there was an update to that story, which there has not been. I just checked.

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I got the top five.

02:15:00 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 3:

02:15:37 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 1:

02:15:38 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm not over it.

02:15:39 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 3:

I agree with you. It's not getting old for me yet. Best country song of the year and best artist, too. Kanye. Oh, I mean, not Kanye. Beyonce. Somebody else you hate on. The number four song. Birds of a Feather.

02:15:56 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

This is a slow burn, man.

02:15:58 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 3:

And we never play this song for some reason. I like this song. I actually, for some reason, this song makes every Instagram reels make me cry. You know what I mean?

02:16:08 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 1:

I love this song. What won song of the year?

02:16:11 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 3:

What won the song of the year?

02:16:13 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 1:

Pop song of the year? Was it Chaparone?

02:16:15 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, it was Kendrick, never mind. Oh, it's not. All right. Number three. I just think it's a different category. Number three song, speaking of Kendrick. Hey. And SZA. We gave away those SZA tickets this morning. Rock, paper, SZA. Thank you to Lucido Fine Jewelry, Pokey Pokey, and Live Nation. Is that how he raps all the time? He does that all the time. It makes me crazed.

02:16:47 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 2:

He's so upset that you're upset by it.

02:16:50 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 3:

I know. He cares. We have a new song at number two New song at number two From an artist that we all know Morgan Wallen is back in With I'm the problem Morgan Wallen Go ahead Morgan Wallen

02:17:04 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 1:

Slow song huh? K.P. love this song This is another artist that my son Luke loves.

02:17:25 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

He likes Drake and Morgan Wallen.

02:17:28 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

And Kanye, I believe.

02:17:37 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I like it. If I'm the problem, you might be the reason. Did you hear that? Yeah. That was good. I kind of like it. And number one song. It's number one. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Die with a smile. Why does Ryan Seacrest, when he goes on vacation, never ask me to help fill in for him?

02:17:57 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 2:

You know? Have you thrown your name into the hat?

02:17:59 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 3:

No, he always has a Jonas brother or somebody doing it.

02:18:02 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to tell him?

02:18:03 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 3:

If you can. I will. You just talk to him. Say, Ryan, Mojo would love the opportunity to. I think I do a good job counting him down. Back to you, Shannon.

02:18:13 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 2:

Hey, for all of this week's Dirty Catch Up on the podcast, on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com. That was amazing, by the way. Look at her.

02:18:22 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 3:

Look at her. That was unbelievable. Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. Here we go. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. So, somebody peed on your car?

02:18:33 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 2:

Somebody I don't know.

02:18:35 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 3:

Would it be better if somebody you knew peed on your car?

02:18:38 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 2:

Well, because, you know, Smith has now realized he can pee anywhere, so it's become like a really fun thing for him.

02:18:43 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 3:

Does he go outside and just like randomly?

02:18:45 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 2:

We get home from school and he's like, got to pee. I'll be right in. I'm like, the bathroom is 30 feet away. I don't understand.

02:18:51 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 3:

Don't ever stop him from that. Cause as a man, there is nothing better than peeing outdoors.

02:18:56 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny. It's so great. Yeah. Well, this was not him. This is, this happened a couple of nights ago. A friend of mine was holding an event at a store that she just opened. And so I went to the event. It was great. And I parked in a lot that was a block or two from the store and it was a public lot um i've parked here many many times before left the event it was probably 7 30 8 o'clock i'm walking back to my acadia denali from marine buick gmc and taylor ding and i see a man with his back turned toward me he was on the phone so i'm assuming he didn't hear me approaching and i realized very quickly that he was peeing on the front driver's side tire of my car what on the phone on the phone still i was now mind you this lot like there are trees on two sides of it so he could have gone and peed

02:20:00 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 6:

against a tree but instead he picked the tire of my car to be peeing he was holding it with one hand or had the phone underneath i don't know if he was holding it but i could very clearly see he was on

02:20:12 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 3:

the phone oh so he had the but he had the phone up to his ear yes so it wasn't like he had it

02:20:16 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 6:

underneath his like shoulder or something okay yes and was peeing wow and and do we know like was man was man i have no i don't know who man was i've never seen man before he was dressed

02:20:27 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 3:

normal so it wasn't like it wasn't like it was a homeless person that was just looking for a place

02:20:32 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 6:

to pay oh no no no no and once i realized what he was doing i stopped in my tracks and just waited until he was done and then he just walked it was so nice of you this has happened to me and i was

02:20:42 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 5:

sitting in my car no oh yes my car was not on it was not running uh it was like in the summertime i think i had the windows cracked it was just like comfortable so uh i was sitting in my car and this guy pulls up next to me and again was not like in need of housing right he looked great opened up his car door got out of his car and was like oh he's getting out oh maybe he's changing his shirt or something like he's standing there for a while looked over realized he's at my back tire because i can see him in the mirror he's at my back tire peeing on the passenger back tire why are guys doing this why why i don't know gotta go you gotta go that is crazy but like

02:21:20 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 3:

Just randomly peeing on a car. I wonder why they're peeing on a car like that.

02:21:24 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 6:

And why didn't you choose the other cars?

02:21:27 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 4:

Why my car? The crazy thing is you go behind a car because you hope no one sees you. But then Megan's looking.

02:21:35 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

I just think that that just is odd because I would...

02:21:38 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 4:

You never peed outside?

02:21:39 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 3:

I pee at golf courses all the time, but I always make sure I'm by a tree. I always feel like my pee needs to help keep something to grow. You know what I mean?

02:21:48 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 5:

I just feel like cars should be off limits. I'm worried. Hopefully you don't pee on the car.

02:21:53 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 3:

You pee like behind. Kev, I don't want to pee on a car unless I'm in a parking lot, and I know that there's nobody around, because I'm afraid somebody's going to get me for exposure or something. I don't know.

02:22:02 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 4:

I peed on a girl at a car in high school, but that was just because I was. You were what? We got some words out of order there. I know, not one second. No, I didn't pee on a girl. I peed on her car. On her car. Yeah, I was just being stupid, though. Okay. Shut up, Diana. Why? Oh, my God. Why? Why? We were dumb, and somebody took deer at me. I was like, bitch.

02:22:21 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 3:

Did you ever pee out a car window? Did you ever pee while you were driving?

02:22:24 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 4:

No. I ain't never done that.

02:22:25 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Try that sometime.

02:22:26 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 4:

You have not.

02:22:27 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Especially when you're in the front seat and the backseat window's open. How fast are you going? No, I've never done that. I'm just kidding. I was trying to save you on that. Don't fall for him. 844 Mojo Live. Where was this at again? What was going on? It was in a parking lot, like a public parking lot?

02:22:42 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah.

02:22:43 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 3:

In what town, do we want to say, or no?

02:22:44 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 6:

It was in Birmingham.

02:22:46 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 3:

That's like a nice place to pee.

02:22:48 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 5:

That's risky. People will call the cops on you in Birmingham.

02:22:51 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. The Birmingham cops, me and those guys, they'll get you in a second for that.

02:22:55 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 4:

He got money, though, so he don't care.

02:22:57 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 3:

He just like, I'll pee wherever I want. You think it was a guy that was like, had money, was coming out of a business?

02:23:04 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 6:

I honestly didn't look that closely at him. I was trying to give him his privacy while he was doing his business on my car.

02:23:13 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 3:

You want to really mess with the guy? Scream. Like bloody murder and watch the guy pee all over his pants.

02:23:20 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 2:

Beat the whore real quick.

02:23:22 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Steve? How you doing?

02:23:25 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Morning, Mojo. As a trash man, I have peed in every corner of Oakland County.

02:23:31 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Were you hanging out in Birmingham? And did you pee on a Buick Acadia from Moran Buick GMC?

02:23:38 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 1:

GMC. I would never. I only pee on my own vehicles.

02:23:42 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 3:

I've actually done it like that Where I've opened up the passenger Or the back door in my door And peed in between the doors I have done that before as well

02:23:52 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 2:

That's your bathroom on the road right there

02:23:55 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 6:

Desperate situations but like That's your own car

02:23:58 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 5:

Plus I was 10 feet from a place with the bathroom You could walk into the bathroom

02:24:03 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of crazy Well I guess that's not our situation out here We don't have bathrooms anywhere We're on dirt roads all day I mean, as long as there's not a house nearby, let it fly.

02:24:15 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I would think that the garbage people have to have this happen a lot of times. I actually have asked my garbage men, which, by the way, they're nicer guys these days. They used to not be as nice. In the past, they would just dump the cans all over the place. We must have got a new garbage crew that came through West Bloomfield. But long story short, I would ask them, hey, you need to use the bathroom or anything like that. And Chelsea would say to me, she goes, did you just ask me to use it? I'm like, yeah, they're out all day. And you think that, plus, if I do that, that's like giving them booze at Christmas time. They're going to pick up the big stuff and not be mad at you. Like, you know, when you got to throw like a bed frame or something. Shannon, call the cops. That was 248. They said that. I agree. I think that she should have done that. Well, I did not. Another one here.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 1:

848, I had somebody pee on me in an Alta parking lot, too.

02:25:04 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 5:

Pee on them or on their car? Pee on their car, I think. Oh, okay.

02:25:07 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:25:09 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 4:

That's our phrasing here. Some people are into that.

02:25:12 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 1:

810 says, I only pee on Wranglers.

02:25:17 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 3:

That's not funny, okay?

02:25:18 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 1:

That's what you mean.

02:25:30 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 2:

stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning.

02:25:40 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I am always a creepy person, but I think that sometimes I'll say things that might be a little bit misconstrued and I'll do it for shock value. But what I'm saying is 100% true. And I don't think that this is creepy. I'm going to say this right now. I love watching my wife get dressed in the morning or get dressed when she's you know we're going out somewhere and i love watching my wife put lotion on for some reason if like chelsea just got out of the shower and she's putting lotion on to me it's one of the greatest turn-ons ever like to me that is that is like better than porn you know what i mean she thinks it's really creepy that i like to watch her when she's doing that even to a point where she's like kicked me out of the bathroom at times now because she thinks i'm i'm staring too much are you watching or are you going no i'm not making any noise no i'm just watching like i'm staring at her and i'm and i to me i love it i like i love you know you're absolutely right and i think that there's something really hot about this so i was having this conversation we were having this conversation chelsea and i were and she finds it weird first off she i i she doesn't like that compliment her so much like i always give her compliments and i think that does she think that it's insincere because you do it so often or what is it well I think that she also hears me talk on the air to female listeners and compliment female listeners so she probably looks at it as he's complimenting every woman but I she's the woman I'm seeing naked you know what I mean and I think that she's gorgeous but we were we were talking about this with a group of buddies and I was saying to them I'm like yeah do your wives ever think it's weird that you like to look at them changing and they one of my buddies says well yeah but here's what i do i pretend i'm sleeping and and in the morning she wakes up before me and has to leave the house before i do so she'll get dressed in the bedroom and he's got like one eye peeked out and he's like sitting there the whole time really enjoying the sights that he's seeing and she doesn't even realize it's going on i'm like that's genius you want to

02:27:46 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 5:

know what's so funny just this morning because i get ready in the dark most of the time in my bedroom because Wes is still sleeping I heard him as I was like trying to look for my clothes that I had laid out for today I heard him go Alexa bedroom lights on you creep I was naked obviously

02:28:04 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 4:

looking for my clothes I mean it's I think it's a compliment it's something to it do you think it's a compliment there are few things more beautiful in this world than a woman's body and the shape of your woman especially if she trying to put on jeans she got to jump up and down or you see her put the bra on oh my god the booty shorts like stop playing we looking all day i've never heard anybody say putting a bra on is attractive yeah i'm telling you or just see her with it on okay that that i can get behind but putting it on i always feel like an old lady

02:28:35 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 1:

you're the girls that you've been with have never been upset by that though right have they that you don't think so they've never hid it from me yeah i i don't know chelsea sometimes will and it it kind of bothers me it makes me feel self-conscious like i am uh you know class a or pervert what do they what sexual offenders chels yeah i was just having a little discussion on the radio here right now about how i love watching you naked oh my god what is wrong with you because i in and i was saying that it is something that i like to watch you get dressed and you think that that's weird and everyone here in the studio thinks that it's a compliment

02:29:18 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 3:

that i love to watch you get dressed okay well i don't and it's my body so thank you but why but

02:29:27 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 1:

what is it like i'm your husband and stuff you don't think that it's creepy and it's weird and

02:29:32 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 3:

i just want to get changed by myself is he making noises i'm not no no no he just stares i do it's

02:29:42 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 1:

weird I do but I do make compliments I compliment you and then you get worse so I have to like be careful of a complimenting you while you're getting dressed because by the way because

02:29:52 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

I've lost some weight recently and so you just emphasize that how good I look

02:30:00 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 4:

now and it makes me feel like okay so for 30 years did I not look okay like you're so it's you look so good you look so you've never been more beautiful I'm so attracted oh it makes me want to vomit dang it I'm so attracted to you I'm like you know okay well I thank you but I don't

02:30:24 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 2:

mean it in a way that you didn't look beautiful before I just think I was young and dumb and

02:30:29 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 5:

didn't think i'm sure you didn't don't but that's just how i feel about it no i get where you're coming from chelsea i totally get it there are people who have been very complimentary of me recently and i know it does not come from a negative place but the first thing you hear is

02:30:42 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 4:

so you didn't like it before yeah right and and again it's just because you look so good now you look like and i don't think you're coming from a place of where i was repulsive before I don't think that. No. But it's just like, okay, and I so appreciate it. Thank you so much. Can you not say it anymore? And don't look at me like that.

02:31:06 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Is it weird that when she gets dressed, I get undressed? No, I'm just kidding. No, tell them. What was it? You told me this weekend, and I want you to repeat this, because actually there's my words. Like, you want to hear that I say you're beautiful, but you do not want to hear me say.

02:31:23 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 4:

I hate when you say you're so hot. I just don't like that, or I'm sexy, or I don't know why.

02:31:30 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 2:

You want to be beautiful to be the word, not hot or sexy.

02:31:36 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 4:

I let everyone else tell me that. You just tell me that I'm beautiful.

02:31:40 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:31:41 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 5:

Now, if you dress up a certain way, because I think we all have those nights, or those outfits, where they're a little bit maybe, I almost feel like edgier, like, I'm a cool mom. They're a little bit edgy, a little bit spunky. But would you want him to call you sexy or hot then and beautiful like normally?

02:31:59 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Um, I guess it's just, I don't know. Coming from him, it's maybe I'm just weird like this. I don't know. I don't, not looking for it from anyone else, but it's just, I don't know. Sometimes the way he says it is like, okay.

02:32:15 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, but she brought up a great point because on the air I'll go, oh my God, that woman's so hot. And she's like, I don't want to be in that category.

02:32:23 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, which I do understand that. Well, you say that all the time. I've heard that for over 30 years of you foaming at the mouth at women on the air. So to me, it's a whole lot to unpack.

02:32:35 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

Amanda, what did you want to say?

02:32:38 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 3:

I feel you, Chelsea. My husband's the same way. If I change to my back towards him, he gets so mad. He's like, oh, excuse me, you need to turn around. And do you? Because I would not. yes unfortunately you're mad at me Amanda

02:32:58 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 2:

you know take it as a compliment he loves you what's up Paris how you doing it's Mojo in the morning

02:33:02 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 6:

hey Mojo you're lying to us because I know for sure when you look at your wife with her clothes on and take them off your facial expression change because you're like oh look at that because I do the same thing I'm a Gemini so I look at my girl she's taking a shower taking her clothes off or on You're just looking at her like, oh, man, ooh, that just looks so good. And clothes coming off, and you're putting lotion on. But I help her. I say, give me that lotion. So I put lotion on her shoulder, her back, and rub her down, you know, just like normal. But I want to put my hands on her and make her feel good. I'm going to put these man hands on her and rub her down. And she gets goosebumps sometimes. Wow.

02:33:37 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 2:

By the way, is it weird that my tongue is on the side of my mouth like I'm a, you know.

02:33:41 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 4:

Like your Lydia's dog, Pablo.

02:33:43 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

02:33:45 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 6:

But it's normal because you're looking at what you like to eat or taste or touch. So it's normal.

02:33:49 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, now, hey, now, I love this guy. I love Paris. Call more often, Paris. What's up, Amanda? Or Amber, I'm sorry, Amanda, I just talked to. Amber?

02:33:57 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 1:

Yep, that's me. I'm calling because I agree with you when I watch my wife get dressed, and especially when she puts on clothes that I like that she's wearing to compliment her figure. I just think she is the finest woman in the world.

02:34:12 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 2:

Ah, see that? Chelsea, can I use the word fine like Amber just used? You fine like wine.

02:34:19 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 4:

I think some people need words of affirmation. That is not my love language.

02:34:25 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 2:

She would rather me look at her getting dressed and go, I'm going to go clean the garage.

02:34:30 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 4:

Are you acts of service, Chelsea? I am 100% acts of service. Yeah, that makes sense. I'm going to go vacuum. He still hasn't figured that out. But yeah, he's going to Google it to figure out what that means.

02:34:40 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Rambo wants to say something. Rambo, don't get me in trouble with Chelsea. What's going on?

02:34:46 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 7:

I'm not, man. I keep the same little saying with my lady. You should just start saying, Chelsea, you're bad AF.

02:34:54 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, there you go. Chelsea, you are bad AF. How was that?

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 3:

I can't pull that off, Rambo. That's just not something.

02:35:05 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 4:

Me and Kev can't. We don't have no problem saying that. Talk to a Rambo.

02:35:08 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. Chelsea, I need to be more like Kev. I need Kev to school me on this one. Carol, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:35:18 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 2:

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody. Aw, happy Valentine's Day.

02:35:21 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say that to my wife. Happy Valentine's Day, Chelsea. I love you.

02:35:26 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 2:

So, Mojo, you're more than welcome to call me. and compliment me any time you would.

02:35:32 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if Chelsea would appreciate that.

02:35:35 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Why would you do that with his wife on the phone?

02:35:36 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 3:

Why are you doing that, Carol? You want compliments, Carol? Are you not getting them from somebody?

02:35:41 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 2:

Correct, correct. Just recently. Yeah, just recently. Otherwise, no, I'm pretty confident in myself.

02:35:47 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Let me talk to you. Is it a guy? Is it your husband?

02:35:52 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 2:

Former.

02:35:53 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Former. Well, let me just say to this guy, listen.

02:35:56 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

He can call you any time to tell you. I'm fine with it.

02:35:59 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 3:

no but i would say this to you and i said this to chelsea i feel like i feel like i'm in that stage of my life right now where i know my life is more than half over with and i realized that i did a lot of stuff that was very very selfish and so i now i'm kind of like going real you know i'm like even with my kids and how i parented my kids and treat my kids so i'm trying to make up for lost time i guess acts of service makeup i'm going to i'm going to I think that's all I need Chelsea I got your your Valentine's Day gift it just came in here I got a heart shaped pizza gluten free from Papa Romano's

02:36:40 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 2:

02:36:43 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Chris I'm telling actually she may we may have to go and we may have to get some nachos from our favorite DoorDash restaurant from CJ's Chalice, I'll talk to you later. I love you.

02:37:00 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I love you, bye.

02:37:00 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, happy Valentine's Day. Look who just walked in. I have been looking forward to this all morning

02:37:05 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 2:

because I cannot figure it out. And Chris, I say this to you every year. The heart-shaped pizza just hits differently. It does. It is so good.

02:37:14 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 4:

It's made with love.

02:37:17 - 02:37:19 | Speaker 2:

Every year, I look forward to the heart-shaped pizza.

02:37:20 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 3:

There is something about it. The heart-shaped pizzas are very tasty, but it's also knowing that it's made with love. And I also said this, why do you not make this year-round? I know it's a special one just for the Valentine's time.

02:37:32 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 4:

So, we do. You do? We do. Any special requests. We do a lot of weddings. Do you really? Yeah, we do, you know, late-night snacks with the love pizza.

02:37:41 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 3:

So, wait, you'll do this for weddings? Like, when people at the end of the night put out, like, little munchies and stuff? What a great thing. Papa Romano's. Remember that. That's awesome. Hold on. How's this thing tasting today? What'd you make me here?

02:37:53 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 4:

Yours is gluten-free.

02:37:54 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 3:

Everybody else's is gluten-free. Oh, look at that. Hold on. My heart is beating right now. Look at this. It's moving up and down. I love it.

02:38:01 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 2:

We're so dumb.

02:38:02 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 3:

It smells so good. Hold on a second. Why do I eat all the... How's it going over there at Papa Romano's? How do you like our new digs, by the way? You like this place?

02:38:09 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 4:

I love this place. It's amazing.

02:38:10 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 3:

What do you think about putting a Papa Romano's right here in Eastern Market?

02:38:15 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 4:

We're looking downtown. Might be something. Are you really? All right. We're looking. We have some growth going on, and so we're looking downtown.

02:38:22 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hell yeah. Lydia.

02:38:23 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 1:

Selfishly, thank you.

02:38:24 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, what do you got to say to this guy? I know that you love Chris and his family and everybody.

02:38:29 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 1:

Like, I love Papa Romanos, too. Everyone there is super friendly. And Chris, you're just incredible.

02:38:35 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 3:

Chris, thank you for... Even though she's mad at me right now. Why is she mad at you?

02:38:38 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 1:

He never texts me back, ever. Why? I've texted him, like, three times. But he'll put me in random group chats because he mistakes me for a different Lydia.

02:38:45 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? Yeah. Do you know what's funny about this? It's like three times. She announced earlier this morning, and I know, obviously, you're a married family man and stuff, but she said that she's not dating Chaldean men anymore. Maybe this is the reason why you're not dating Vikeldi.

02:38:56 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 4:

No, listen. We had this conversation. She's the problem. Breach on you. Breach. What happened? We've had this conversation. Why is she the problem? She just needs to. I love it. She'll be okay. Her and Victoria have the same problem.

02:39:11 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 3:

Victoria. I was wondering, what does Victoria do for you?

02:39:15 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 4:

So Victoria is our local store marketing manager for Power Run. Okay. So she deals with catering. She deals with all our school accounts. We've done some great programs, like reading programs for schools and the classes that read the most books throughout a month. We'll give them a free pizza party. Oh, cool. And anything with the community, any charity stuff, that's Victoria handles all of that for us.

02:39:33 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 3:

Now, is Victoria single?

02:39:35 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 4:

Yes, she is. Oh, really? Nice to meet you. Watch out, Victoria. Victoria, you're in trouble. Watch out.

02:39:41 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this guy. She's got beautiful skin. Look at that smile. Oh, my God.

02:39:45 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 1:

And she goes to Pilates every day. Do you really?

02:39:48 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 3:

Let me see. Let me see the stomach.

02:39:49 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 1:

Wait, Reformer?

02:39:50 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 3:

No, you can't ask that. By the way, I was going to say this, Chris, you look fantastic, buddy. You're looking fantastic.

02:39:55 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you very much. I've been working very hard. I'm trying to take after you.

02:39:58 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you and I together, we're going to do that.

02:40:00 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 5:

That's our goal. We've got to live for our families, right? I've got three kids, man. I've got to stay around for them. Papa Romano's is the greatest. We love you guys so much. I love, and I'm going to say this to you guys as listeners, you hear us do prizes throughout the year. We would not be able to do it without Chris and the fact that any time we come to him and we say, Daddy Warbucks, throw out some cash our way. I want to be a partner in this Papa Romano's downtown. I think it would kill. Let's talk about it. Let's do this. Thank you for coming in. Heart Shaped Pizza is today. You can order them at Papa Romano's.
