00:02:42 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 1:

This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:02:49 - 00:02:50 | Unknown:

Showtime.

00:03:19 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. War of the Roses this morning is kind of an interesting one because it's a husband suspicious that his wife is cheating with her ex-husband. And his reasoning behind this is they still kiss each other. Which, in all great schemes of things, is weird in itself, But they do have kids together, and she uses the kids as her reasoning as to why she's still affectionate with him. You've got to hear this, and you've got to make sure that you stick around for The War of the Roses at 7 and 9 o'clock. And if you can't stick around, then listen to the podcast, which we will post for you, actually, as the show goes on. But you'll get a chance to listen to it right after it happens, after 7. Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike, good to have you guys with us. 104.5 SNX, Channel 955, and 92.5 KISS FM. Our producers are working their butts off. KP, our executive producer, Lydia here, our associate producer, and screening your calls. We have KP. Katie, our executive audio director, so it's good to have you guys here. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Shannon, I was looking at your social media. I think it might have been over the weekend, and all I kept thinking to myself was how much work it must be to be a Girl Scout mom because I saw the boxes upon boxes. It didn't look like boxes. It looked like crates full of you looked like you were the stocker at Kroger that was stocking a full shelf with the amount of Girl Scout cookies that came in. Is this the time now where Girl Scout cookies are all getting delivered to people?

00:05:36 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

I think that it's different for each troop. But I know for Lucy's troop, and she's in third grade, we did the online ordering and the paper ordering, where you could go door to door, which we did not do any of that. We just did the online ordering and took the easy way out. God bless you, because I'm the worst Girl Scout mom in the world. But so those cookies came in and then Lucy will have to go and deliver all of those to the people who ordered them. And then what she hates, by the way, because she gets really nervous to do it. But that's a big part. That's a big part of this.

00:06:09 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Does she hate going and asking for it or do you guys do it with friends and family?

00:06:13 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, so they don't even really do that anymore. I mean, you can with the paper ordering, but now it's just a link that people can click and order themselves. Like it kind of took a lot of the fun out of it.

00:06:23 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

the interpersonal out of everybody's life nowadays, haven't we?

00:06:27 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 1:

It's almost like it wasn't about teaching the skills and just about making money.

00:06:31 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

What's the money against the mouth?

00:06:33 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 1:

For the very first time since she joined Girl Scouts and can do cookies, she's doing where they sell outside of a store. So she's doing that next month. What kind of store does she get to go to? It's like a pet store. She'll be outside of a little pet store. That's what we signed up for. But yeah, we got boxes And they keep asking me Can we open cookies for dessert? I'm like, they're not our cookies We have to go deliver them Spike, I think you ordered some cookies

00:07:02 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

I ordered them and I used to do the table thing too The what? The table thing, standing out in front of us Yeah, I've never done that

00:07:11 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Getting all the funny

00:07:13 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

I bought them on the way in Yeah

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, I'm looking for M is for cookie song from Sesame Street Do you remember that song at all?

00:07:22 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 2:

And C is for cookie.

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh. You dummy. M is for monster.

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what just happened?

00:07:27 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. C is for cookie.

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 1:

Do you need to go back to third grade? Actually, that's like kid or nothing.

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 3:

I do feel horrible. Oh, my God.

00:07:33 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 2:

That's why you couldn't find it.

00:07:35 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't find it.

00:07:35 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, why is this not singing? It's so funny because you keep saying Girl Scout Mom. And yesterday, I had to send Andrew a text and say, you're welcome, because I had to go to, and only one parent was allowed to go. I had to go to a glitter bomb party for Girl Scouts. What is that? Well, I didn't know either, Spike. Sounds horrible. I got the little invite from the troop leader, and they told us, you know, to come at this time. And the girls were so excited, and they'd been preparing for it for the past couple of weeks. And so I said to Lucy the night before last, you know, what is this glitter bomb party that I'm going to be at tomorrow? You're just going to have to wait and see. So I'm, like, prepared. So are you going to this one?

00:08:18 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to bail on it? This was yesterday. No, this was yesterday. And it was fine.

00:08:21 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 1:

There was actually no glitter involved except for decorations.

00:08:24 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 3:

You didn't use the excuse, I don't want to camp or anything like that?

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the camp that I don't want to go to that I talked about the other day?

00:08:31 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

For those listeners that were listening a week ago, Shannon was talking about not wanting to do this camp thing because she doesn't like to stay overnight in a camp.

00:08:38 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you something? I pulled the other moms that were there yesterday. There is only one mom and one child going. And it's the troop leader and her daughter. Oh, no. Why? Well, two reasons. One, nobody else wants to go. But the bigger reason, it's a big sports tournament weekend, like final tournaments for a few different sports. So everybody's either doing that or out of town for that. I got so lucky.

00:09:03 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

I got so lucky. I am in the clear. Doesn't that put more pressure on you, though?

00:09:08 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, loose nose now. Because I did ask her. I did tell her about it. I felt kind of guilty after the listeners roasted me that morning.

00:09:16 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but be careful. Don't talk about it too much because if they find out the troop leader is the only one that can go, she'll change the date on you so you can all go. Yeah, that's true.

00:09:26 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

First off, let me just say this. There's way too many activities. Yeah. You should not be doing a camping trip, a glitter bomb party, and then having to deliver all these cookies.

00:09:37 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

There was ice skating this past weekend. Oh, my God.

00:09:39 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

What starts with the letter C?

00:09:41 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

There's a lot of stuff.

00:09:41 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, here we go. Cookies starts with C. Did you say there was no glitter at the glitter bomb party?

00:09:45 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 1:

It was just, I said, why did you guys call it a glitter bomb party?

00:09:48 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's twisted to do that to the parents.

00:09:49 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

And she was like, oh, you just like the name for the party. Dude, I was preparing to get showered with glitter.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

G is for glitter.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 6:

That's what they need to do. They need to update the Sesame Street stuff. What's going on, Doreen?

00:10:07 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. Shannon, you are not the worst Girl Scout mom I am. I'm from Germany, so we don't even have that. And my daughter's been begging me for years that she wants to join us. So I thought it's just cookie selling, right? That's what you do. Well, first of all, she just joined. She's in fourth grade. I had no idea that we had to pre-order, like, we have to buy them ourselves and then sell them at the cookie stand. Like, I had no idea. So I only had, like, three online orders, like, four on paper orders. And she said, all my friends have, like, 700 boxes. I said, 700 boxes? I didn't even go towards them. And I didn't even know that I had to buy her a vest. I thought we were just going to get one there. So I still don't know what I'm doing.

00:10:54 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, don't even worry about the vest. First of all, Lucy never wants to wear her vest, and I had to laugh because the mom that I sat next to yesterday at this Glitter Bomb party, her daughter's vest had all the patches stapled on it, and she's like, she's a third child, can you tell? I just don't care anymore.

00:11:12 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 6:

What's up, George? How you doing?

00:11:15 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 1:

Good, good. It's funny. My sister went to pick up her granddaughter's cookies, and they picked up over 500 boxes.

00:11:23 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 7:

Holy cow.

00:11:24 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So, man, they filled the back of his truck with him. It was crazy.

00:11:29 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

How do you deliver 500 boxes?

00:11:32 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, in the process of sorting them to each, you know, what each person gets takes a long time.

00:11:37 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 6:

I bet her living room must look like, I don't know, a cookie factory.

00:11:42 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, Grandma, my sister, has been doing it since they're in Disney World. So, she got the easy end of the deal.

00:11:50 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 2:

That's a lot of cookies.

00:11:52 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 6:

Man, do you get something the more cookies that you sell? Like, do you get, like, a special patch? I mean, like, tchotchke and stuff. Do they?

00:12:00 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 5:

There's, like, laptops and stuff.

00:12:02 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

I mean, but that's if you sell, like, 10,000 cookies. Yeah.

00:12:05 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 6:

Is it Mike? Because I know Cecily. She did well last year. She didn't do so well this year. Why did you not? Can I buy it? Can you still buy?

00:12:13 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I don't know. I'm not taking part in it this year. I helped last year, and that's.

00:12:19 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh, are you trying to prove a point now? Yes.

00:12:20 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah.

00:12:21 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 6:

What's the point?

00:12:22 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 5:

The point is she needs to put in the effort and not let dad take over. Because while I didn't help, I helped.

00:12:29 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 2:

It's so hard to let him do that, though.

00:12:31 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 5:

I managed it all. I did everything. I answered every single DM. I sent out every single link. Oh, that's right. Because you put it on Instagram. That's right. Yeah, and it went through on the air. I didn't even do that. Yeah. It needs to happen this way. She sold like four boxes this year, and that's what it has to be.

00:12:47 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 6:

Do you feel like your daughter has turned into our sales department here at the radio station sometimes? They just need a little extra help. I'm not going to respond to that. Is Cecily Kate Arnold now? No, I love Kate. I love Cecily, too. Actually, that's what you do.

00:13:03 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 2:

Is she going to take us out for cigars and wine? I hope so.

00:13:06 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 6:

I hope so. Actually, you know what? That's a good thing. If I had a daughter that was in Girl Scouts, I would tell our sales department, I'll do a free remote for whoever, you know, goes out and sells the most cookies for them.

00:13:20 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Like last year, she went to Family Fair and she did that thing where she stands outside and sells the cookies or whatever. So I went and I made this, like, dorky commercial, radio commercial for her and played it there. And I was so excited. And all these people bought cookies. And I'm like, I'm not doing that this year. It's not my thing. Why do you not love your child? I clearly don't.

00:13:41 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 6:

Listen to this. Kay, how many cookies or boxes of cookies did your child sell?

00:13:48 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 4:

So my cousin actually sold above, like, 20,000 boxes one season and went to Italy on a trip. What?

00:13:55 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 2:

Okay, wait a second. We got a canteen and two plastic bowls last year for Lucy selling, and I think she sold, like, 310 boxes last year.

00:14:04 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, her mom was, like, our troop leader, and we ended up going to Niagara Falls when we were kids. We went on a bunch of trips.

00:14:11 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. That's incredible. How?

00:14:14 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, her mom was one of those moms that, like, she didn't work full-time. So, like, that was, she became, it became her full-time job. She was on Facebook, Instagram, like, anywhere that you could be trying to push Girl Scout cookies, she was pushing them. Wow.

00:14:29 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. God bless her. Even if I didn't work, I'm not pushing Girl Scout cookies. Let's be honest. Yeah, and then the delivery, like you said, Shannon, with 20,000 boxes. Oh, my gosh. No.

00:14:39 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 6:

How much money are each box?

00:14:42 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

I think they're like four bucks, five bucks.

00:14:44 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 6:

So times 20,000? Do the math.

00:14:49 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 2:

You do the math. I can't.

00:14:50 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 7:

We're reading people, all of us say that.

00:14:53 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 6:

Pull out the calculator. It's a lot. It's a lot of money. It's a lot of trips to Italy.

00:14:58 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

If they're $5 a box, it's $100. I still pulled out my calculator so I wasn't wrong

00:15:05 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 5:

Brandon are you there yes I am I find this to be great Brandon guys tell everybody what you are

00:15:13 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

I am my troop's troop leader I am also the product manager and the one in charge of all the cookie sales

00:15:20 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 5:

are there a lot of dads that do that

00:15:23 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 3:

not that I know of since I've been with our troop which has been like 6 years now I have been the only dad that has been involved that I have seen in any of the trips that we've interacted with.

00:15:35 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 4:

Good for you, Brandon. You ever pinch a little off the top just for some Lions tickets or something?

00:15:40 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

No. And last year, my two daughters sold over 1,000 boxes each. Wow. And because I'm the one in charge of all product sales, it is a nightmare because my house from February until April is packed with cookies.

00:15:57 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Wow. Now you do this, are you a single dad, or does your wife have other stuff that she's doing, or does mom have other stuff? What's going on?

00:16:08 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 3:

My wife is also our troop leader within the troop. Wow, so you guys both commit to it.

00:16:14 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's awesome. That's unbelievable. What do you think about—

00:16:17 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 3:

And I'm the one who's with our troop at every single one of our cookie booths, and sometimes we're at cookie booths for eight hours a day on the weekends.

00:16:25 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 4:

Is there an advantage to have, like, a dad shaking down the other dads on their walk into Home Depot?

00:16:33 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people give credit to me being there because I am out there with the girls, and they think it's awesome. Because an actual dad is taking part in something that normally it's just the moms doing.

00:16:47 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 5:

Although I will tell you this, though, Spike, the moms glare makes me buy all the time whenever I'm walking into a store and I see them there. Hey, thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. Thank you. Congratulations on what you've done. Lauren, how many trips did you go on selling Girl Scout cookies?

00:17:06 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 6:

We went on three large trips.

00:17:09 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 5:

To where?

00:17:11 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 6:

We went to Hawaii, Myrtle Beach, and Disney World. Are you serious? How many cookies does it take to go to Hawaii? We used, just besides the cookies, we did cookies. We did other fundraising. We did, like, bath bombs and bath kits. We did gift wrapping at Christmastime. We hustled.

00:17:29 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 5:

Guess what Mike's going to start doing. That is incredible. I got something for you guys right up there.

00:17:33 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 4:

I mean, honestly, that's amazing. Good for you. My kids, like, sold a record number. They went crazy. Remember when they were hustling? They came in here and shook down Steve Harvey for 100 boxes. And they only went to Fort Mackinacalaca.

00:17:48 - 00:17:49 | Unknown:

What the hell?

00:17:49 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day, what year did this stuff enter?

00:17:54 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 5:

All right, we'll give you three clues. They all happened in the same year. What year was it? This was the year that Russell Brand and Katy Perry divorced.

00:18:01 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 1:

British actor and comedian Russell Brand has filed for divorce from singer Katy Perry, his wife of about 14 months. Rumors of a split spread after the couple spent Christmas apart.

00:18:12 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 5:

After having one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows, this might have been one of the more mediocre ones. The Black Eyed Peas, do you guys remember when they did the Super Bowl?

00:18:21 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 4:

One of the worst performances of all Superbowl.

00:18:26 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 5:

And big song, Party Rock Anthem. What year was it?

00:18:37 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 2:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Cheating test. Grab your man's phone and run to the bathroom with it. If he kicks down the door, you have your answer. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. What year was this?

00:19:02 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 5:

Katy Perry, Russell Brand divorced in this year.

00:19:05 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 1:

British actor and comedian Russell Brand has filed for divorce from singer Katy Perry, his wife of about 14 months.

00:19:12 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 5:

The Black Eyed Peas performed the halftime of the Super Bowl. and Party Rock Anthem was the big song on the radio. Haley, what year was that?

00:19:25 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 6:

2011.

00:19:26 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 5:

It was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:19:30 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 6:

The Black Eyed Peas. I absolutely love them.

00:19:33 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 5:

I know. You know what? I joked when I said it was like one of the more letdown ones, but compared to Rihanna, that was actually one of those ones where you're like, oh, but that year when it happened, we were all excited, right? uh-huh yes uh we're setting you up with the prize we're gonna give you tickets to go and uh see wwe coming to huntington center in toledo it's wwe sunday stunner congratulations

00:20:00 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:20:01 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 4:

Have a great time. We're going to give away some Taylor Swift tickets. Text HERO to 95500 for a chance to win. That is HERO, H-E-R-O. Text that to 95500. Taylor Swift, come in June 9th and 10th to Ford Field, and you have a chance to win tickets weekday mornings at 630 and 930 right here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon's going to get us caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30.

00:20:29 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 2:

I want to start with an update on the tragedy at Michigan State. Those five students who were hospitalized after Monday night shooting all remain in critical condition at Sparrow. Michigan State police said the decision not to identify those victims was out of respect for them and their families. Although I do know a GoFundMe is going around for one of the individuals who is in critical care. Last night, a vigil was held on campus at The Rock to support the victims and survivors as they work to heal from this horrific situation. among the dignitaries in attendance, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Also, Michigan State University men's basketball coach Tom Izzo gave a really emotional speech.

00:21:09 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 1:

To the families of those who were senselessly taken from us, words seem so hollow right now. To the individuals currently fighting for their lives in a hospital and their families, we're praying for you. And I know that my wife and I got a chance to go to the hospital. I know Governor Whitmer was there, and I know our president was there. Unbelievable people. There are so many good people in the world, the doctors, the nurses. Although, for me, I'm also a father of two Spartans of my own. I can't begin to imagine what all of you are going through.

00:21:54 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 2:

We'll keep the updates going throughout the morning for you. In Other Dirty Today, Sophie Lloyd, Machine Gun Kelly's guitarist, is slamming any suggestion that she had anything to do with his apparent issues that are happening right now with Megan Fox. Her management said, quote, Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media. Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else. And actually, she isn't a relationship. She just celebrated her five-year anniversary with her boyfriend, posted a photo of them together on Valentine's Day. So she's saying, wasn't me. Nothing to do with it. Like Shaggy. Like Shaggy says. Wasn't me. Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha, claiming the Duchess of Sussex defamed her in the 2020 book Finding Freedom in order to further her own narrative, which she says is totally fake, by the way. Samantha dropped that claim during a very heated court hearing stemming from her defamation case against Meghan. Samantha's lawyers claim Meghan got caught and resorted to putting her sister down because she threatened to expose her. Now, Samantha, who again shares the same dad as Meghan, claims Meghan orchestrated this campaign to defame and destroy her sister and her father's reputation and credibility in order to preserve and promote the false rags to royalty narrative that Meghan had fabricated about her life to the royal family and also to the media. Now, Megan's lawyer says, this is BS. Samantha has zero grounds to sue here and is demanding that the case just be dismissed already. And what does it mean when she did the same thing to her sister in her book, but worse? And in many, many media interviews. Right. Yeah. I don't understand. I don't understand. If it's not like a clear cash grab, I don't know what this is.

00:23:58 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Do you think your brother will write a book about you someday?

00:24:01 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 2:

I hope so. He's got a lot of good dirt on me. I'd read it.

00:24:06 - 00:24:18 | Speaker 4:

Tell Sean that I'm going to get the publishers of, I don't know, what are the names of the publishers companies? They always have like... Random House. Random House. Yeah. Random House. Simon Schuster, Random House. We're going to have a bidding for that.

00:24:18 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 2:

I've never heard of anybody doing this. I don't watch this show either, but I'm seeing this everywhere. a contestant on Discovery Plus' Naked and Afraid burned his penis while filming the season 15 premiere episode. This is Sam Moser.

00:24:35 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, sweetheart. Last night, we stayed very close to the fire and we've been peppered by hot coals. Yeah. And one of the said coals has landed on my little soldier's helmet. Oh, my God. He got a little too close.

00:24:56 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

His little soldier's helmet. Oh, jeez.

00:25:00 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, what classic song tops the charts as the song that makes people the happiest?

00:25:07 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 2:

Happy.

00:25:08 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 1:

No. Is that a classic? And that's not really a classic song. Oh, it's not a classic? It's older. I had to say classic song because it's an older song. It's this song by the Beach Boys. Goodbye, Rachel.

00:25:20 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it kind of gives you good feels.

00:25:22 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 1:

To create a happy song. The professor behind this study believes the combo of BPM, a strong beat, verse-chorus, verse-chorus structure is a sure way to get one. I like Kokomo.

00:25:33 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 2:

For some reason, Kokomo makes me feel happy.

00:25:34 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 1:

A short intro, a bright tone, and a mix of predictability and surprise. So good vibrations, tap in the chart. Also on here, Get the Party Started by Pink.

00:25:45 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 2:

This is, like, same genre as happy, right? This should be on.

00:25:48 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 1:

Uptown Girl by Billy Joel. YMCA by the Village People making the top ten.

00:25:53 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 3:

and September. How do you not light up when you hear this sound?

00:26:00 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty Tech,

00:26:01 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

I like listening to Unholy. Unholy is the one that gets me a smile. Not on the list. Maybe one day.

00:26:10 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 5:

Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com and another world-famous phone scam happens in minutes.

00:26:17 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 4:

Damn girl, you look good. I'd cheat on me too. Wait, another War of the Roses is after 7. on Mojo in the Morning.

00:26:25 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 2:

Time now for a phone scam. So James partied a little too hard Super Bowl Sunday. The problem was he was partying with a bunch of their work's clients, and he ended up falling asleep. There really was nothing more to it, but Spike actually called him up and phone scammed him about it.

00:26:42 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song.

00:26:49 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 5:

It's your home with phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

00:26:52 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:26:57 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hello. This is Dewana McCoolid from Human Resources calling for James.

00:27:04 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, this is James.

00:27:05 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Hi, James. I hope you have a second to talk here. I understand you took a personal day. So are you at home and not at the office? Yeah, I'm at home. Well, that's all for the better, because we have to discuss about what happened yesterday. Do you know why I'm calling? um no do you know that you acted inappropriate at the super bowl party that you were at with your clients no we got a call from two co-workers of yours and we did corroborate the story with one of our customers that was at the party it sounds like you were a hot mess yesterday did you have too much to drink at the party yeah there was there was like a lot of drink there

00:27:50 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 6:

They were serving us, and I mean, I remember I did drink, but I don't remember doing anything inappropriate.

00:27:58 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, maybe because you were unconscious. Do you remember being unconscious?

00:28:02 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 6:

I may have fallen asleep a little bit.

00:28:05 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 3:

Let me give you a little rundown of what we were told happened at the party, and maybe you don't remember a lot of this because you were unconscious and intoxicated, but apparently you put your whole hand in the chili bowl at the food table, And you also poured Jack Daniels on the taco salad to, as you said, make it healthier.

00:28:26 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 6:

What?

00:28:27 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember destroying the food that was put out for the customers? No. Do you remember seeing the band Modal Nodes that played before the game?

00:28:35 - 00:28:40 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I know there was a band. I don't remember to know their name.

00:28:40 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good. You were still conscious enough to remember there's a band. because i was told that you jumped on stage took the lead singer's microphone and you announced which one of you lucky ladies is gonna tuck my drunk ass into bed oh my god i didn't do what any of this ringing a bell with you no you don't remember thinking that halftime was your own

00:29:01 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 6:

personal opportunity for karaoke no i don't remember james you embarrassed our company

00:29:08 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 3:

in front of several clients at the party made a mess of it.

00:29:12 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:29:13 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 3:

That hangover that you called in sick for is your body reminding you that you're an idiot.

00:29:18 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 6:

I am so, so sorry.

00:29:19 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 3:

What do you suppose we should do about this?

00:29:23 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 6:

I've never... I can just say I'm sorry. I have no idea. I really don't drink like that.

00:29:29 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 3:

So you're saying you don't drink like that, but you obviously were aware that you were intoxicated.

00:29:35 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 6:

You know, I think I actually might be, like, allergic. The alcohol, and that's why I don't drink that much, because the way it affects my body.

00:29:44 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 3:

You think you might be allergic.

00:29:46 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 6:

This doesn't happen to me. Like, I don't drink like this. And this might be some kind of reaction or something. I don't know.

00:29:53 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

At the end of the night, you were sitting in front of the entrance of the restaurant, in the mud, eating pizza with your shoes.

00:30:01 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

Clients saying to our managers, is that your guy? Oh, my God. What do you think we should do with an employee who blacks out at a company-endorsed event?

00:30:12 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 3:

I think maybe you should let me call and apologize to everybody, please.

00:30:17 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you want us to put you back on the phone with the people you already left messages for and offended. Do you want to hear the message you left for your boss last night?

00:30:26 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I do.

00:30:30 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. You hear that, James?

00:30:35 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:30:36 - 00:30:40 | Speaker 2:

James, this is Spike from the Mojo on the morning show. You've just been the victim of a phone scam.

00:30:43 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations. Sounds like you had quite the Super Bowl party.

00:30:48 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Bro, I thought I was going to throw up, dude.

00:30:53 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 2:

00:37:24 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for Boar of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:30 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 4:

So Brian thinks that his, is it your wife, Brian? Yeah. You think that there's something going on between her and her ex. And it happens when she's around their kids?

00:37:49 - 00:37:49 | Unknown:

Yes.

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 4:

What happens?

00:37:51 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 3:

she uh kisses her ex on the lips and it makes me crazy you know seeing that type of thing

00:37:59 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 4:

what do you mean like when uh when is she around her ex that kiss him on the lips

00:38:04 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 3:

you know because she's got joint custody with her kids so every time she goes to drop them off or pick them up she does that and you know she sees i'm there sometimes so she'll do it in front of me and she's acting like because that she does it in front of me she's not hiding anything but i don't like it you know we've talked about boundaries and i don't think i really need

00:38:26 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

to explain this so you told her you don't like it but she continues to do it yeah of course i've

00:38:31 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 3:

told her i'm not i don't like her doing that and she she still does it she says but right in front

00:38:35 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 4:

of you yeah that's interesting okay i mean honestly that's interesting that she's doing it in front of you so at least she's not hiding it well that's what she's saying but i don't know

00:38:45 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 5:

If that makes it right If he told her It makes him uncomfortable Of course Is she somebody Who kisses everybody On the lips Like friends Is it a typical greeting For her

00:38:55 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm married to her And I've only seen it With him

00:38:59 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 4:

And who's the initiator Of the kiss Because you know How somebody goes in For a kiss right away

00:39:06 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 5:

But you could change

00:39:08 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 4:

That's what I'm going To wonder about Who Does he ever initiate The kiss to her

00:39:14 - 00:39:20 | Speaker 3:

At this point, I think they've done it so much that it's kind of like what they do. I don't know if it's like that.

00:39:20 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 5:

Because if someone wants to kiss me on the lips and I don't want to kiss them on the lips, I'm deflecting. I'm not kissing on the lips.

00:39:26 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine how weird that would be? I mean, listen, you're a very patient guy.

00:39:33 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm friends with my accent, but I still wouldn't think about kissing them on the lips at this point.

00:39:38 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys ever hug?

00:39:40 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 1:

We hug. Yeah, but even like a hug isn't like a – it's not like a good tight squeeze. Is it a bro hug? Like a half hug? It's like a quick, you know, I appreciate you. Yeah. Okay. Yes.

00:39:49 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to call, and we're going to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. It's our War of the Roses. Brian, mute your phone.

00:40:56 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 2:

That is so f***ing annoying. That's why I always put that f***ing information. I know, I know. It just seems cool.

00:41:04 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 3:

But this is nice because, again, I mean, it's free.

00:41:09 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 2:

You're not going to ask me to pay for anything. I'm not going to have to give you a credit card or any personal.

00:41:15 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 3:

Nope, none of that. Literally, you're going to answer these two questions. I'm going to start an account for you. And then hopefully in the future when you order flowers, you'll use us.

00:41:23 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, hold on, hold on. Starting an account, so, like, am I going to get, like, monthly? Are you going to bill me next? No. That kind of a thing?

00:41:28 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

Not like a subscription? No, if you use us again, we'll already have your information on file. It just makes it easier. I promise you it's not sketchy.

00:41:37 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on. I'm just, like, sketched out because you, like, knew my last name. That's kind of weird. So I'm just making sure this isn't something I'm signing up for, like, to be billed or something.

00:41:45 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

You are not signing up for anything except to get the flowers out today. That's it.

00:41:51 - 00:41:52 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:41:52 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Okay. I'm trusting you. I'm trusting you. Okay. Okay. What are the questions?

00:41:57 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 3:

Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Sydney?

00:42:01 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 2:

Let me think about that. Hang on. Oh, I actually did for my mom. Yeah.

00:42:06 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:42:12 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that I don't know. I usually just send my mom flowers like once a year for her birthday. Okay. Not sure about that.

00:42:18 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, rosesbloom.com is now authorized to provide you with this free floral arrangement. So I first need to get the first and the last name of who these are going to go to.

00:42:32 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And I can pick anybody?

00:42:35 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't matter. You can pick anybody. We're kind of promoting one certain arrangement, and it's definitely more masculine, I would say, if that makes sense.

00:42:45 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah. I'll send them to Brian.

00:42:51 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And before I get Brian's phone number from you, I am creating this account again, just so when you order from us, it's easier in the future. What is his relationship to you?

00:43:03 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 2:

He's my husband.

00:43:04 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And Sydney, this is something unique to our service as well. We can also do what's called a digital voice card. You can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered via a text that Brian will receive. Did you want to do that? Sure. Okay, so just think of something kind of short and sweet to say, and I'll count you down and you can go ahead. Okay?

00:43:30 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay, hold on. I'm not that creative. I feel like I'm on the spot here. Okay.

00:43:37 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you ready?

00:43:38 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Okay, three, two, one. hey babe hope these make you smile have a great day no that was bad that was bad like i don't even know what to say no that was actually good it was good is that okay it was perfect yep um

00:43:53 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 3:

sydney real quick i have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and

00:43:56 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

training purposes are you okay with that sure awesome sydney i'm going to jump on so that i can gather the rest of the info and then we're going to send those flowers off but i have to say one last thing to you while we were asking you who you wanted to send flowers to that your husband brian heard every word that you just said because this is the mojo in the morning show and we were doing the war of the roses uh i thought so you thought so i kind of thought something in me was like this is so does that wait does that mean that you would have sent them to brian or

00:44:39 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 2:

would you have sent them to somebody else you know i i've never sent a guy flowers so i mean

00:44:45 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 3:

okay all right yeah all right well this is an experiment but my husband's gonna be like what

00:44:51 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 2:

why i don't know so my husband would be like what did you do how much did you spend on amazon this master I do have to ask you a couple quick questions here and first off say hi to Brian

00:45:05 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey Brian

00:45:08 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

We have to ask you one quick question before we let you go and before we send these flowers off and it's the reason why we're calling you Brian's weirdness in why he wanted us to try War of the Roses with you all stems from the fact that he told us that when you and your ex-husband greet each other you guys kiss each other and that kind of threw all of us off because i think we were all surprised that you're kissing your your ex-husband okay you're really making this a thing

00:45:48 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 4:

because like this isn't this isn't a thing you don't think that that's that's a an unusual thing

00:45:57 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 2:

it doesn't it doesn't seem very common uh i i would think okay well i i can understand how maybe

00:46:04 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 4:

like some people would think that that's weird but my ex and i had a very amicable divorce i have two kids that you know go back and forth yeah i want to show a proper example that mom and dad don't have some messed up like anger and like you know i don't want to like i want my kids just to see that we're like happy and fine i get it's admirable yeah it's good to be amicable and

00:46:34 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 1:

we know on this show firsthand it's great when you have that opportunity but he also told you how much it bothers him and you still do it right in front of him well and i guess i do it in front

00:46:46 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 4:

of them to let him know there's no issue. I don't know. I've had the conversation with my kids. Mommy and Daddy still love each other. We just don't always get along.

00:47:00 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 2:

How old are your kids? Three and a half and five. Oh, so they are young.

00:47:07 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 4:

Three and a half and five.

00:47:09 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

Can I just say that it does make them feel uncomfortable. Am I right in saying that, Brian? Yeah, I'm not a fan of it.

00:47:18 - 00:47:18 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:47:19 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 2:

So maybe one thing that you could do is let Brian also get in on the kiss.

00:47:26 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 5:

I do think there are other, I mean, even just like a good hug would still show them that like mom and dad are good. We, you know, we love each other and we have a good relationship without it affecting Brian so severely.

00:47:40 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And I mean, I love, I love him. So my current husband, I don't know.

00:47:47 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 5:

Like, you don't want to mess up that relationship.

00:47:49 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, I don't have a problem, like, pulling back. I mean, if it really bothers them that much, I mean, I can pull back.

00:47:57 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 2:

We're going to send those flowers off, and we're also going to discuss this some more with our listeners to see what their thoughts are on this.

00:48:05 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, great. Okay, so now I'm the topic of the day, that I kissed my ex. Oh, gosh. Okay.

00:48:10 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 2:

Hold on one second, okay?

00:48:12 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:48:13 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 3:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses.

00:48:27 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 5:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:28 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning.

00:48:38 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. All right. Let's get into this thing here right now. It's nice to know that we don't necessarily have a cheating situation here, right? I mean, even though I think that we got a little had by Sydney, where she knew or acted like she knew that it was us. But man, the topic is unbelievable. Uh, is it okay to still be kissing your ex if that ex is the father of your children? Oh, I want to know about this whole thing. I want to know. Actually, we have somebody that speaks from experience on this. I'm going to grab you first just because I want to know the whole story. So, Steve, are you there? Yeah, I'm here, Mojo. How you doing? So, you were with a woman, and she would kiss other guys?

00:49:41 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 3:

So, just a little bit about my background. So, I'm a police officer, so if you guys hear my radio coming through, I apologize in advance.

00:49:48 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 2:

Are we on duty right now?

00:49:50 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to confirm nor deny anything. Okay. All right.

00:49:55 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Breaker, breaker. Well, thank you for serving. We appreciate it. Thank you.

00:50:00 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 5:

the story so i was married for 13 years and you know my ex-wife she was the love of my life there wasn't anything i wouldn't do for her i worshipped her we had two beautiful daughters together and we had a bow renewal 10 years into it like i thought i thought she was my soulmate that's who I was going to die with. And, but she had this really bad habit when she'd go to parties or when we'd go to parties together, she'd kiss other dudes and she'd kiss them on the cheek and she'd always tell me, well, you know, we're just friends, so it's fine. But I told her I wasn't comfortable with it.

00:50:45 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Were they friends of yours, like mutual friends of yours that she was kissing?

00:50:48 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they were like mutual, mutual friends.

00:50:50 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 3:

Guy friends. But she would kiss them on the cheek, you say?

00:50:54 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 5:

She would only kiss them on the cheek.

00:50:55 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:50:57 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 5:

But I was still uncomfortable with it because she wouldn't do that to anybody else.

00:51:00 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 3:

Would she kiss them?

00:51:01 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 5:

Even other mutual guy friends, she wouldn't kiss. There would only be like one or two guys who I knew she kind of had a little crush on.

00:51:07 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, and you knew she had a crush on them.

00:51:10 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 5:

Like thought they were cute or hot or whatever. Yeah. I mean, you can just tell, you know, when there's a little bit of chemistry between two people, especially when you're social drinkers like we were.

00:51:21 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 1:

So once you told her this bothered you Did she stop?

00:51:25 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 5:

No she kept doing it And so that was just something To me it was a red flag But you know I wanted to make the marriage work So it was just something I kind of ignored But it led to issues There was one time at a wedding I actually got into a fist fight with somebody Because she kissed this dude And then his wife Like went up and assaulted her

00:51:50 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Assaulted your wife.

00:51:52 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:51:53 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 3:

She obviously felt uncomfortable, too.

00:51:55 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So, like, and I'm not going to say she didn't have that one coming, but she was my wife. I had to stick up to her. All right.

00:52:03 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 1:

So let's fast forward this now. Yeah. At some point, this got messy because you're saying that she is now your ex-wife. So what happened that was the straw that broke the camel's back?

00:52:12 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 5:

So this wasn't why we broke it off. Like, this was something I just ignored for 13 years.

00:52:18 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:52:20 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 5:

And eventually, as soon as she got a job where she doubled her income, she went from working, you know, like part-time at a hospital to working full-time in the private sector, she left me, like, instantly. It was like, you know, when somebody treats their spouse like that, who they took vows to spend the rest of their life with, and they pledged undying love and loyalty to, I mean, you'd think that if they loved you, they wouldn't just keep doing something that they knew made you feel uncomfortable. Yeah, don't make me feel uncomfortable. Right.

00:52:58 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm sorry that that happened. I think it's very, very sad. I do have to tell you, though, that in this case, I think it might be a little different, and I'm playing devil's advocate on this one, but it's an ex-husband and father of your children, and if she's only kissing in front of the children, is it really that bad? Joe, is it bad that she's kissing her ex?

00:53:23 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, it's definitely bad. Brian needs to leave. She is not respecting those boundaries. I mean, we're not trying to create more cheaters with our children. You know, kids are personally fine Seeing their mom and dad, you know, happy as friends There's no reason to be kissing on the list And I feel like if we had done the three-way calling this morning Between her and her husband, we would have called them up

00:53:44 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you know what, we thought about the three-way We asked if we could do it And it was not something that Brian wanted to do We had to respect his wishes on that one Otherwise we would have Erin, Mojo on the morning show, your comment

00:53:57 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

Hi Mojo, I have divorced parents All my half-siblings have divorced parents. They've never kissed after being divorced, and they shouldn't. It's super weird.

00:54:08 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 1:

There's plenty of ways to show you're friendly and you get along without it, right?

00:54:12 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, I'm an adult. If I saw my parents kiss on the lips, it would be so weird to me.

00:54:19 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, wouldn't it? That'd be weird. Listen, I have to tell you this, that I have friends with divorced parents. when their divorced parents want to sit on the same side of a table, it's weird for them, you know? And I don't think that's good. You want the problems with each other where they're not happy with each other. But it's weird when all of a sudden a little affection comes into play, right? But it is weird. I will say this. It's nice. Like, I think it's nice when you see couples that get divorced and they can be civil with each other. But there is a point where civility needs

00:54:55 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

to like separate itself not even that there's there's a line yes i think

00:55:00 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 5:

And I honestly think this, and I don't know if this is the case. I don't know if it's ever been the case with you, Shannon. But I think that sometimes, like, I don't think that you need to necessarily call each other and talk to each other if it's not necessarily about the kids. I really don't. Because I think if I was in a relationship, if I was married or dating a woman who had children, and I know she was constantly calling her husband, her ex-husband.

00:55:26 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 2:

For stuff that was not related to.

00:55:28 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 5:

And it had nothing to do with my kids. I'd be uncomfortable with it.

00:55:31 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:55:31 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 5:

You know? So I think that there's got to be, like even Brian said, boundaries is like the big word in relationships. Lynette?

00:55:43 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you guys? Love you.

00:55:44 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 5:

We love you, too. Hold on. I haven't had Vonda in a while.

00:55:46 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too.

00:55:47 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:55:48 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I want to let you know I am divorced, and I'm married to my second husband. But never any time did I, you know, like, kiss my former husband. And I think really it's great to have, it's awesome to have a great relationship, but I think you're kind of like crossing a line when you actually kiss them. And I think that's just another.

00:56:07 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 5:

Would you hug each other?

00:56:09 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, of course. Yeah, we would hug each other.

00:56:11 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 5:

Lingering hugs?

00:56:12 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 3:

No, no, quick hugs.

00:56:14 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:56:14 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 3:

And, but I think you're kind of sending your kids a mixed message of crossing that line and actually kissing that person.

00:56:22 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's confusing for them.

00:56:24 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's confusing for them, but I have like the best of both worlds. I mean, I have a great relationship with my ex-husband and a great relationship with my second husband. And actually, they both get along well. So we can have family events. They actually hang out together, drink a beer together. And I'm so blessed.

00:56:40 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you want to know how it doesn't get well? You start kissing. That'll never happen. Or you know what also happens? Hot tubbing. Don't ever hot tub together as couples. That's a bad idea.

00:56:52 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 1:

You think that'd be obvious, but we have to say it sometimes.

00:56:54 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 5:

Jamie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:56:56 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 4:

So I have four kids, and the father of my four children, we were not together up until we got back together recently. But I'd always kiss him. He's the father of my kids. He's my best friend. So for me to kiss, hug him, hold his hands, even while I was with my significant others at the time, they all knew that this is a boundary you're not going to invade.

00:57:21 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 5:

This is a boundary?

00:57:23 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 4:

You would even hold his hand? oh yes we because we're best friends so even when we weren't together he was still my shoulder to cry on my rock how old were your kids going through the process of divorce um we were never it was always a breakup we weren't married until recently okay but we've been together

00:57:42 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 1:

off and on 22 years how old were the kids when that breakup happened um they were all different

00:57:48 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 4:

ages anywhere my oldest was anywhere from five on down and there was no confusion for them to

00:57:54 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 1:

Why everything still looks the same But you're not together anymore

00:57:59 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 4:

No, there was no confusion Because me growing up We went on family vacations With my stepdad Ex-wife and her husband So for us it was normal But holding his hand Kissing him, it was just It was a friendship love At the time And we're now married Been married for three years

00:58:22 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you're married to each other again?

00:58:24 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 4:

Um, we are first, this is our first marriage. Okay.

00:58:27 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 5:

They were just dating. They were just dating. So, so, okay. So see, I will say this to you. You had feelings for him all along and not feelings for the other guys. And that's why you were still doing it.

00:58:38 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 4:

Probably. And that's probably correct.

00:58:39 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Cause you're, cause I, I think the problem that you had more so than even, you know, kissing and holding hands, which is awkward. You confided in him. So you use him as your confidant. That that's more intimate than even kissing sometimes.

00:58:54 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes, and he also went on family vacations with me and my children, and he was a part of the family.

00:59:01 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that would have been, if I was in a relationship with you, I would have been fearful the entire time that you guys were messing around, which probably happened. But Andre, what's going on?

00:59:11 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo, how are you?

00:59:13 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 5:

I'm okay, Andre. Will you add a little light to this War of the Roses?

00:59:17 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think her and her ex-husband can get them LeBron James fish pound. I think a good fist pound. Don't say the word pound. Fist bump, yeah. A good fist pound would be good because, you know, you want to respect your mate's wishes. You know, when someone tells you that it makes them feel uncomfortable in a marriage, you should do your best to try because that's grounds for disaster. So a good LeBron James fist bump between the ends.

00:59:49 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 5:

That's a good idea. Thank you for the call. Angela was the child in a relationship where parents were divorced and they did kiss each other.

01:00:01 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they did it when I was younger, and they didn't really do it in front of me. My mom just always told me that they still have love for each other, and then they eventually stopped. And now right now she doesn't want to talk to them because he's crazy, so they grew out of it.

01:00:12 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 6:

So you never got to see them kissing, but your mom would tell you that they would kiss when they were not around you. So did you think anything else also happened?

01:00:19 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 3:

No, it wasn't. They were just in the front room, and I was just a hallway away, so I knew.

01:00:26 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. And were they both in other relationships, or were they just divorced and single?

01:00:31 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 3:

They were never married, but, yeah, they were both in other relationships.

01:00:34 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 6:

Because that would be awkward. Did they do it in front of the other relationships, or did the other relationships not know?

01:00:41 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 3:

They definitely didn't do it in front of them. I'm not even sure if they knew.

01:00:45 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 6:

It's wild. Do you, you know, because you didn't know about it until later, but do you think that as a young child you would have been a little confused if you saw your mom and dad in the other room kissing?

01:00:58 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 3:

No, because I knew about it. Like I said, I was just a room away, and it was always just like a peck on the lips, and that was it, and a hug.

01:01:04 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I don't know. It's funny with kids, because I think there are times, and I don't know if this happens at all, you know, in many divorce relationships, but your kids get hope that their mom and dad are going to be together, you know what I mean? And if they see that you guys are getting affectionate with each other, that's even more hope. Right.

01:01:21 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 3:

You guys have a great day. Thank you.

01:01:23 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 6:

I appreciate it. Good old LeBron fist pound, he says. You're home with the phone scans.

01:01:32 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 4:

01:01:45 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 2:

Spartans held an on-campus vigil last night at The Rock to support the victims and survivors of Monday night's tragedy. A lot of people getting up to speak, including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

01:01:59 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 1:

We know that there's no such thing as a quiet, shy Spartan, right? We'll take this moment and live the action in memory of those that we lost and those that are fighting for their lives.

01:02:13 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 2:

Here's more from Governor Whitmer.

01:02:14 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 1:

Our Spartan community is reeling this week, and our lives and our hearts break for those lives that were shattered by gun violence. We mourn Arielle and Al as she was known to her loved ones, and Brian, who were taken from us far too soon. We think about their families, recalling their last visit home. We hurt for their friends who are remembering their last conversation or maybe rereading text messages. and we are hoping for those who are fighting for their lives in the hospital and we hold each other

01:02:52 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 2:

closer. MSU men's basketball coach Tom Izzo also said a few words speaking about the need to come

01:02:57 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 4:

together as a community. But as well as our entire university community who was impacted by the horrific actions Monday night I'm representing our athletic department and I feel like Michigan state my 40th year here i don't like the place i don't love the place i live the place we also

01:03:18 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 2:

learned yesterday that the shooter had two guns with him along with several magazines of ammunition in his backpack the investigation into a motive while the five other shooting victims remain fighting for their lives is ongoing in other dirty today if you saw the tweet that was posted on valentine state regarding the release of the epstein court docs being uh leaked or released whatever listing all of the celebrities athletes politicians etc who boarded jeffrey epstein's private jet and made their way to his private island well it was a hoax the confusion began after the daily mail reported that a batch of soon-to-be unsealed court documents expected to include info pertaining to at least one public figure would be published soon the real documents have not yet publicly been made available.

01:04:08 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 6:

I thought it went. I thought we were going to get some answers to this one. I still cannot believe.

01:04:12 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 2:

That we haven't seen that yet?

01:04:14 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 6:

I mean, there's some high-powered people that are on that list that are keeping that thing from being out.

01:04:18 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep. Yesterday, Lizzo sharing an important message for all of her single fans.

01:04:25 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 5:

Don't be bitter if you're single. I think being single is incredible. Like, I have been single for a long time. I did not want to just get with someone to just be in a relationship. Being single is it, honey. Like, you get to do whatever you want to do. You get to talk to whoever you want to talk to, wear what you want to wear, go out. And I can still do that in a relationship. But it's like, it just hit different when it's just you. So it's just like, enjoy yourself.

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

She spoke about the benefits of being.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 3:

A single guy or girl.

01:05:01 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

You can always get or whenever you want. And if you need a hug, call me. Call me. As soon as she was like, don't be mad, I was like, don't tell me what to do. I was like, oh yeah, good points, good points.

01:05:21 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 3:

All right, actress Raquel Welch has died. She was a legend. She was 82 years old. She passed away yesterday morning following a short illness over the course of a career that spanned more than 50 years. Raquel was in more than 30 films, 50 TV shows. She also had a very successful line of wigs most recently.

01:05:39 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 1:

That name, by the way, signified beauty because of her. Oh my gosh, yeah. If you knew somebody or named somebody Raquel, your daughter, it's like, whoa.

01:05:48 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 3:

I was the first person I thought of, yeah. And The Masked Singer kicked off season nine last night with one of its biggest stars yet and also its oldest. And Megan, I'm doing this one for you. You will see why. We heard from Mustang, who turned out to be country singer Sarah Evans. She stumped the panel. And then we heard from the gnome.

01:06:13 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Come on, I know that voice. I knew you would. The love of my life. Yes!

01:06:21 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 3:

No, he said 97 years old, by the way, he said he'd never seen the mass singer when he was offered the gig. He decided to watch it. He said it looked like fun. And he's like, nobody would ever guess that there'd be a 97 year old dude in one of those goofy outfits.

01:06:44 - 01:06:54 | Speaker 2:

He's perfect, you guys. I'm going to be so sad. Don't even say it. I do love him. So, so sad. I will cry on the air. I guarantee it.

01:06:54 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 1:

He's your Betty White.

01:06:55 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 2:

I love him so much. I want a tattoo of him so bad.

01:06:59 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 1:

What do you want to tattoo? His name?

01:07:01 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 2:

No, his face.

01:07:03 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 1:

Like, would you use the Mary Poppins version? Yeah, I'd give Bert.

01:07:06 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 3:

For sure. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on whatjwinnwhite.com.

01:07:18 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 1:

01:07:20 - 01:07:20 | Unknown:

01:07:21 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 1:

01:07:32 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 2:

01:07:35 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 1:

We're setting you up with a pair of tickets, yeah. Eastern Michigan University. I'm so excited Thank you guys Love you too You're going to have a great time at EMU, Killer Rice Fun Have a great time Winning these tickets are free every morning at this time So we're giving away some Hold on the line, we'll get you set up with it Thanks for listening I like this song He did this at our jingle ball And I'm like, oh I like this song And now we're playing the song

01:08:07 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 2:

Good song.

01:08:21 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 1:

That was very good. Mojo in the Morning Show. So I want to ask this question, and I don't want to pass judgment because he is an advertiser of this radio show. He's also one of my good buddies, and I don't want him to be so mad at me. and he gets very easily offended. I was out last night with Megan's boyfriend, Steve Gabara, from Zot Ford in Holly. Luke and I and Steve went to a golf simulator to hit some golf balls. And so Steve, who, by the way, he's like my golf coach, he pretty much tells me, you should quit. Good coach. Very inspiring.

01:09:03 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 3:

Don't you love that?

01:09:05 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 1:

You're not very good.

01:09:06 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 3:

That happened to me when I tried to play tennis. The coach goes, yeah, you should find something else to do.

01:09:13 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

So we're hitting golf balls, and all of a sudden I hear a song, and I'm like, oh, my God, what is that? Like it was really kind of loud. And I look over, and I see Steve grab his phone, and he picks up and goes, hello. And he starts talking to this person on the phone. And it turned out to be a woman that he was talking to. And he kind of like walked away from Luke and I. And he came back and I said to him, I go, hey, I think I recognize that song. I felt like I was playing the throwback throwdown, by the way, because the song went off and it was like pretty noticeable. And then he puts his phone down a few moments later. Another call comes his way and it's another song. And it was also another noticeable song.

01:10:00 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to play you guys the ringtone for the first one because it was hysterical.

01:10:04 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even know people still use ringtones.

01:10:07 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 4:

And by the way, that's the other thing I want to bring up. Is it okay for a grown-ass man to have a ringtone or something? But this was his – and they were not the same ringtone. It wasn't like I was listening to – that was what the ring was. He has specific ringtones for specific people, and both of these were females. Here was the first ringtone that went off.

01:10:24 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 2:

Come on over. Great song. I forgot about this one.

01:10:30 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 4:

Another song, Christina Aguilera.

01:10:32 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 2:

Wait, and this was a girl?

01:10:34 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Now, when this goes off, does he react like he's embarrassed, or does he let it play for a second? He quickly grabbed his phone and quickly grabbed it and then went away from us. The other song went off was equally as interesting that went off was...

01:10:49 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:10:53 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 4:

What the hell is happening?

01:10:56 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 3:

He's cheating on you, Megan. This is a man in his 50s. This man is not. He's not a 14-year-old girl in 2006.

01:11:05 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 5:

First of all, I love this. Second of all, I'm so curious what my ringtone is.

01:11:10 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 3:

That's what I was just going to ask. I was wondering. You want to find out? No, he must have a ringtone for Megan. Let's call him.

01:11:16 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Because I actually want to fight with him because I find this whole thing to be very disrespectful.

01:11:20 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second here. We're dialing him up. We're dialing up.

01:11:24 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Who does he think he is?

01:11:25 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 4:

Mr. Gabara here. I don't know. Will you be mad if you don't have one?

01:11:30 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Are you kidding me?

01:11:32 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 3:

Also, side note, may be mad for having so many girls constantly calling him.

01:11:36 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 4:

Wait, hold on a second here.

01:11:37 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 5:

No, good for him.

01:11:37 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 4:

Why is my...

01:11:38 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 5:

It means I have to spend less time giving him attention.

01:11:42 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 4:

My phone wasn't ringing through on his thing here. Let me see if I can get it one more time. Hold on. He's going to be listening. Steve. I don't know. Yesterday I asked him if he heard us talking about KP's car, and he wasn't...

01:11:52 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 2:

He might have had a big night at his house with girls coming over. Sorry, that was such a mic joke That's why I like it It was a dad joke, Megan That's what I mean Steve

01:12:06 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Tom, Cammojo, good morning

01:12:09 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 4:

How you doing there, Sunshine?

01:12:13 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 5:

I'm great, how are you?

01:12:14 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 4:

Good, quick question for you Because I was sharing with our friends here And all of our listeners I was sharing that you have ringtones for the ladies in your phone, what is Megan's ringtone that goes off when Megan calls you?

01:12:33 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 5:

Well, I can't remember the exact name of the song, but it refers to not being responsive to text message, emails.

01:12:41 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 3:

So funny.

01:12:44 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 5:

So funny.

01:12:47 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Steve, I know you've always wanted, Steve is, by the way, a huge Throwback Throwdown fan. Loves a Throwback Throwdown. Actually, Steve in the past has asked if he could play sometime. And I think that we should allow him to play. But we're only going to be playing with you, not the Throwback Throwdown, the Ringtone Throwdown. So it's going to be songs that are ringtones, and you have to guess the name of those songs.

01:13:14 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 5:

That would be great. I think we should do it.

01:13:17 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 3:

They say there's only about 300 songs that chart each year, Steve. Are you worried that you might run out of songs For all the women that call your phone on a regular basis?

01:13:26 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 5:

That's cute But no, I think I'm going to be just fine with 300

01:13:29 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 4:

I want to know who the Christina Aguilera girl was That's what I want to know Yeah, come on over

01:13:39 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you know, I can't It's not respectful to do kiss and tell You know that

01:13:45 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 4:

The other thing too, Steve Was the fact that you had to walk away from Luke and I While you were on the phone I thought you could talk, you know, in front of your buddies with whoever it is.

01:13:54 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, so that is a very special woman in my life that I was talking to. It was actually my mother.

01:13:59 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 4:

No, it was not. I know. I swear it was. You're so mad. You don't have to come on over. No, you don't. All right. All right. We're ending this right now. There's a bull stream. I'm going to start just doing the drops instead of me doing it. There's a bull stream of bull crap.

01:14:13 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 5:

There's a jet stream of bull crap coming out of your mouth, my friend.

01:14:16 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 4:

There you go. All right, Stevie.

01:14:18 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 5:

I'm human.

01:14:19 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 4:

We'll talk to you later.

01:14:20 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you guys have a great morning.

01:14:21 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Take care of yourself. Were you listening today? Because you offended me yesterday when I asked you if you heard KP needed a car and you said you weren't listening.

01:14:28 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 5:

No, I was listening early, but now that I'm trying to work, I have unfortunately had to turn off the awesomeness that your show represents in my life.

01:14:34 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Steve. He's got the Drew and Mike podcast on right now, I guarantee. We'll talk to you later. Bye. All right, have a good day. Take care of yourself. Amy, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:14:45 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

hi i wanted to call in and tell you what my ring my ringtone is when i call my husband what's that um so when i when i call my husband my ringtone is the ava mack song oh she sleeps

01:15:00 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's great Sweet but a psycho Nice

01:15:06 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

But the problem is that I didn't know this Because I'm not around when I call him So one day I was in the car With my husband and my two children And this song comes on the radio And my boys say It's mom's song, mom's song

01:15:21 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 7:

That's how you found out

01:15:25 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's good

01:15:26 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 1:

That is beautiful

01:15:27 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 2:

So, I'd like to think I'm pretty tame and not psycho, but I guess that's my ringtone, and it hasn't changed. Oh, that's funny.

01:15:34 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 1:

Beautiful. Thank you for the call, Amy. Pat, or Ray, I'm sorry. Ray, what's going on?

01:15:40 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I was just wondering, what was Steve Gimbardo's ringtone when you just called him? Oh, my God. Hold on. Let's call him back.

01:15:46 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

Wait, that is a great question. How did we not ask that?

01:15:49 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 1:

That is a really good question. We're going to dial him up here. You stay there, okay? Okay. Hold on. You can ask him that question.

01:15:56 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 7:

I hope it's Rick Astley, never going to give you up.

01:16:01 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't it be your, what's the Dennis Larry song? You're an a-hole or whatever. Good morning. Steve, Ray has a question to ask you.

01:16:12 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. So what was Mojo's song when he called? What was his ringtone? When he calls?

01:16:19 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Well, he's not a woman, so he doesn't get a special ringtone. Oh! Discrimination.

01:16:26 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 3:

Everybody has.

01:16:27 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, wow. He don't get the fans for benefits, huh?

01:16:33 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Ray. Thank you for asking that. Thank you. Steve, we're sorry to bother you again. We apologize.

01:16:38 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 5:

Never bother. Anytime, Mojo. All right.

01:16:40 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 1:

01:17:02 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Oh, God, yeah.

01:17:05 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that is a good one. And then the other one is the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz is a good one to use if you got somebody that you want to show. I thought everybody had their phone on vibrate, right? It was always on vibrate. What's up, Christy?

01:17:21 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 4:

01:21:03 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 3:

Lisa, can I help you?

01:21:04 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Lisa. This is Jordan Belfort from the Office of Neighborhood Services. How are you? Good. How are you? Good. Is this Lisa that lives on 1421? Yep. My office is responsible for code enforcement. I guess there's a growing problem concerning your house, and some neighbors have contacted us, and that's why I was calling you. Do you have a second to talk?

01:21:26 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 3:

You can call me on my cell phone at home.

01:21:29 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, here's the thing. I'm at your house right now. Yeah. And because we had official complaints.

01:21:34 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 3:

That's fine. Put it in writing and send it to me.

01:21:36 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, if I put it in writing, it might be a fine. That's why I'd rather talk to you first so that we don't have to send a fine out automatically.

01:21:43 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay, whatever.

01:21:44 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 2:

I guess now I see what your neighbors are talking about.

01:21:46 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 3:

Do you? Fantastic.

01:21:48 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're just a little short, and I'm just asking for a little cooperation to try and help you.

01:21:53 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what do you want to say? Don't just say it.

01:21:55 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, we have complaints from some of your neighbors about the appearance of your home and some things that are hanging up on your house. Okay. Now that I see what they're talking about, you have a shed full of decorations here, and do you understand why some people might complain that it looks like a junkyard?

01:22:10 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 3:

Did you just say the word junkyard?

01:22:11 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 2:

And I'm not a critic. My job is to settle residential disputes. And as it stands now, two of your neighbors have filed a complaint, and they're trying to pass around a petition to have your decorations removed. And obviously that's not how we handle things here. I mean, if you told me you were on a drunken bender and it...

01:22:27 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:22:30 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know you, Lisa.

01:22:32 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 3:

Just so you know, I really have an important job here.

01:22:34 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 2:

I believe you.

01:22:34 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure you do. But you're from some radio station playing some games.

01:22:39 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, I have an important job, too. My name's Spike from the Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:22:43 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 3:

I knew it. I knew it.

01:22:44 - 01:22:45 | Unknown:

01:22:46 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 2:

Your niece, Kayla, told us to phone scam you.

01:22:49 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 3:

You're kidding.

01:22:50 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 2:

Nope.

01:22:51 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 3:

You know what? You should really go to my house because it's lovely. Is it lovely?

01:22:54 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 2:

I heard it's like a garage sale threw up on your house. That's what I heard.

01:23:00 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man.

01:23:04 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, Lisa.

01:23:05 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 1:

We haven't had that happen in a while. It's been a long time.

01:23:09 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 2:

It's been a while since I've been busted. Now I kind of feel premature scamulation. I don't have anything. Is that something?

01:23:17 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 5:

lot of people it's school drop-off time and people miss the end they want to hear the end of the war of the roses so if you had to like step out of the car for a second you can just pop right back to our podcast when you get back in the car and listen mojo i want everyone to listen to our podcasts except for um my girlfriend's family right now because why she sometimes i bring up and she goes oh cool i'm so happy my mom and my dad listened to your show uh because i'm gonna bring up a topic right now that might be weird but i want to ask what everybody in the room does and see if we're odd because we have an open door bathroom policy at our house uh my friends are all astonished at this that yes when peeing uh megan and i usually just leave the door open and um we don't just because we just leave it open while we're peeing and we really care about each other peeing and sometimes i or she might even wander in to brush our teeth or or whatever while the other person is peeing is it is it just oh yes peeing yes so it's not not for number two no

01:26:51 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Make a duty.

01:26:53 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not that. I'm pretty sure. I don't even know if Meg actually poos. I don't think she does. Wait. If she does, I've never been.

01:27:01 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 4:

Because peeing is an interesting thing because sometimes you have, like, a gas that might come out when you're peeing. Do you gas? Do you have a little gas explosion that goes on?

01:27:16 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, I always disguise it. You have a, you know, with a cough or... Oh. Or you do Shannon's trick, where you spread the butt cheeks so that it muffles the sound.

01:27:28 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 4:

If you know it's going to be one of those types, do you go to use another bathroom, or do you close the door?

01:27:32 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah. If I'm having a gas issue, like after the Super Bowl and all the chili I ate, yes, then I'm closing the door.

01:27:39 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Another one is throw on the fan, even though you don't need the fan, or use the sink. When you're washing your hands, that's a good time to fart.

01:27:46 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 1:

You can smell it if they're right there.

01:27:48 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, they're open door policy in it, right? Yeah. Then she can. So I'm really only worried about the sound. Mike, do you open door policy in your relationship? Because I don't in mine.

01:27:58 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Not with. Not really, no. No, I don't. I don't really either. Only because it's the only moment I get with kids not in. Yeah. So I shut it and lock the door.

01:28:13 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 4:

um uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is is this a normal thing channon do you do this do you open

01:28:22 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 1:

door uh pee for the most part yeah i mean not like all the time but that's not abnormal for i mean this morning i was getting ready and wes wandered in and just peed but poop never Ever, ever, ever. I honestly try to do it when he's not even around. Really? Yeah.

01:28:43 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 4:

How does that work with your system? Sometimes when nature calls.

01:28:48 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

I mean, sometimes when nature calls, but I really try to avoid that still.

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:28:54 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 4:

That's love. You guys are still in the newlywed process.

01:28:57 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 3:

Do you do the brushing the teeth, though, when they're in the bathroom, or no?

01:29:01 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 4:

No. So I will say this to you. excuse me i have a thing right there i just farted while i did that too nice so smooth no so um i will sometimes not close the door and chelsea will mistakenly walk in you know what i mean like oh sorry you're not ever or because i'll have the door like half closed thinking that that's enough um but uh i try to be respectful you know to not uh to not uh uh pee we we do have in our bathroom we have the sink but we also have a little toilet like the toilet where you can go in and close the door so you got there's a door within the door i'm so jealous of people who have that that's so nice in our master bath we have that so you can actually you can actually do that and then chelsea there's a shower and there's the the the tub yeah that's right there and then the sink and she can actually do all that stuff so then will you since you have that

01:29:57 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

little door it's just a thin door will you drop a grumpy

01:30:00 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 6:

And while she's still in there? I try not to because if I know that, like I have my normal time, it bothers me that she'll sometimes come in because she has something to do and I don't know that. I'd rather her not be smelling it. And if she goes to the bathroom, she absolutely will not allow me to be in the room at all. Like she does not allow me to be in the room at all. Right, yeah. Yeah, she's not as open.

01:30:26 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 1:

And that's the way it should be. I would really question – listen, we're very open, like I just said. Our friends think it's weird. Still, there's a boundary. If one of us has to release the Kraken, we're not – if she poops, I don't even know about it because she must take care of it when I'm not in the house.

01:30:45 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Brooke.

01:30:47 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. Good morning. So I'm with Spike. We do have an open-door policy, except for when we go number two. But when we go pee and shower, we keep it open. But it is because we have four animals, and if we don't have the door open, they are crying at the door.

01:31:07 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 6:

Yep. And those are not your kids you're talking about. You're referring to your animals, right? What's up, Sydney?

01:31:15 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 5:

Hey. So, yes, we definitely leave the door open for number one. Number two, we'll leave it cracked, but, like, we can come and go as we please, especially if we need to shower. Like, you just go. But if it's, like, a really bad number two, like, we close the door.

01:31:33 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 6:

And turn the fans on really loud? Yeah. I didn't know this. Sydney, your fan, do you know where your fan escapes to, like, where the smell goes?

01:31:44 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, we're in an apartment on the second floor. Okay.

01:31:47 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 6:

So, no, so I think what it does is, in an apartment, it's supposed to exit out that's their their rule i don't think it necessarily necessarily does but but in our in our home well it's in ours the fan exits to whatever the the attic or whatever the thing is we thought at least it doesn't the the builder that built our house did kind of a shoddy job on this one and it exits out it exits out and smells another bathroom up oh that's weird Yeah, so our front bathroom gets a little stinky So what happens is If I duty really bad in my bathroom In our bedroom It makes the other bathroom So what happens is

01:32:29 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 1:

Spreads your love across the house

01:32:32 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 6:

Somebody gets falsely accused

01:32:33 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 5:

That sounds happened before In a different apartment We were moving out of And we had some bad Mexican food The night before And I couldn't hold it And then as we were moving out, I smelled it through, like, another room on the other side.

01:32:53 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, that's bad. That's a bad builder. They're not supposed to do that because it could cause damage with all the moisture of a shower being, you know, but also, aside from showers ventilating out, that's a builder that's never been hotboxed and never been married to somebody who can really leave some damage.

01:33:11 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 6:

Tony, what's going on? Hey, good morning. How you doing, buddy? What do you think about this, about Spike and his girlfriend? and they pee in front of each other.

01:33:19 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 2:

Hey, it is what it is. Like, I'm real affectionate. I try to be affectionate with my girl when I'm still on the toilet. She came home and the door was open. I had my arms open to try to get a hug. She was like, I'm not hugging you while you're in there.

01:33:29 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so while you were seated? You wanted a hug?

01:33:32 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm already in there. You know, she closes the door and almost has it locked. I can't even talk to her. I try to crack the door. But when I'm there, I got it open. So I try to call for make noises before I, you know, make a sound. But it always, I don't ever time it right. I'm like, this is me

01:33:50 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 1:

You ever do that, you try and make a noise But you're off Sometimes

01:33:55 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes making the noise actually causes it to come out

01:34:05 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 6:

You know

01:34:05 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, and I'm never thinking about it I'm like, I'm going to be real courteous And then I cough, and then it's loud The noise is louder than the cough

01:34:12 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 6:

I love it nikki your husband hates when you leave the door open he thinks i'm so weird and i've done it since

01:34:23 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 4:

literally like the day the first night he stayed the night when we first met he just thinks it's weird but he is totally not opposed to coming in when i'm showering and peeing and doing his business right right but if i leave the door open i'm just a crazy lady but i will not i don't leave it open when it's like duty time like like he's concerned i don't even do that yeah yeah that's

01:34:49 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

that's the line right there aside from that last guy who wants a hug while he's pooping every other sane person realizes there's a line yeah it's so funny though because

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 4:

Like, you know, we're intimate when we're baking cookies.

01:35:03 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 2:

Right. You're bumping uglies. You know what's going on. Why be so modest all of a sudden?

01:35:08 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but you're weird because I'm peeing. That's okay.

01:35:12 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 5:

I don't care. Some people get weirded out by it, and they think that the romance is over. You know what I mean? I'm thinking, come on. Everybody does it. Everybody's okay with it, right? Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:35:27 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

All right. You guys have a good day.

01:35:28 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 5:

All right. Do take care of yourself. mojo in the morning show so mike and ali preparing for baby number three to come and mike's got some

01:35:38 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

delivery room questions yes what's our due date uh june 1st is is what they said it could be before

01:35:46 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 2:

it could be after what questions could you have about the delivery room because this is baby

01:35:51 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 4:

number three on the way uh oh well so that's the thing is we're not um we're not we're super nervous about the baby in general like we're just adjusting to life or whatever but we're more comfortable in the delivery room than the first two times the first time you know you're scared it's your first time the second time you kind of know what to expect the third time you kind of have an idea but like how do we make it a little more you know enjoyable a little more comfortable because you know you're going to be there a couple days you know you know uh what's kind of going to happen Roughly, you have an idea. So I want to know, like, now that it's our third time, can I bring, like, stuff in there?

01:36:31 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh, I know what you are asking.

01:36:34 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 4:

Can I bring, like, a PlayStation?

01:36:36 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 3:

I remember this from last time.

01:36:39 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, but that time, I don't think I should have done that. This time, though, we know what's going to happen.

01:36:45 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 1:

Can you take a fire stick to the hospital?

01:36:48 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Hospital TVs, by the way, have the worst television.

01:36:52 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 1:

They do

01:36:53 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 5:

It's like the worst Like you can watch Like two things Yeah They have like the locals You know Like the NBC ABC

01:37:00 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 3:

Bring a laptop So that you can watch Like Netflix or Hulu Or whatever

01:37:03 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Well plus You need to have The whole hook up With the webcam And everything So you can do A TikTok live At Mojo in the morning When you're

01:37:10 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 5:

Can we go back To hospital TVs For a second And then we're Going to talk About Mike's thing Hospital TVs Have the Like technology From like 1980 And it makes me worried That the technology of the hospital is not that good. Don't you think that in this day and age that they should keep the technology up to date like flat screens and do

01:37:29 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 4:

something cool? The TV looks like something that our grandmas have.

01:37:34 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 5:

And the remote control for the TV thing looks like Well, it's on the bed. It's attached to the bed. But it's like the worst thing. It's not even a remote control. It's like crazy.

01:37:43 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 2:

The cost that would be involved like even Beaumont Royal Oak where my babies were born have over a thousand rooms, patient rooms.

01:37:51 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 5:

So, I mean, that's over 1,000 TVs. Get them sponsored by, I don't know, Samsung. But, all right, so Mike wants to do this. Mike, you've got to be careful, though. Why? Because if you become so distracted by what you bring in there and then you screw up, you will forever be known as the screw up with the birth of, you know, your third child. And you guys say that you're not having any more kids. You'll have no make goods on this.

01:38:16 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but, I mean, I know what to expect, roughly. Again, roughly. Anything could change. I know what to expect. I watched Jurassic Park and Avengers last time. We were sitting in the delivery room for like a few hours. On what? Your phone? No, no. They had a TV. It was one of those TVs. It wasn't that great. But, you know, I did that. So I feel like after those movies, you kind of just sit around. You know what I mean? You chat. You kind of get an idea of what's about to happen. Like, let's make it fun. This is our last time. Let's go out with a bang.

01:38:43 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 5:

Let's do it. Let's bring, I don't know, board games in. I don't know. Or bring in.

01:38:47 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 3:

She might go real quick this time, though. You know, third baby. she might just sneeze this baby out and then you there you're there's nothing you can do there's

01:38:55 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 5:

no time mike what hospital you you guys uh having the baby it'll be spectrum health downtown beautiful all right so maybe somebody from spectrum can tell us like or call us up and tell us what did they bring into the delivery room or what did your you know significant other do because i got in huge trouble because chelsea was in 36 hours of labor with number one which was joe and i left to go home and take a shower which i've never lived down many many years later so you got to be careful and you made it back in time yeah i made it back in time and my father-in-law came with me we both went home take showers because it was such a long time but we stopped off on our way at the mall to

01:39:36 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 3:

do some shopping that's right i knew there was more of the story yeah and we came back with a

01:39:40 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 5:

bunch of bags i even bought some stuff for chelsea and she looks at us she goes you went to the mall

01:39:44 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

you know what mama kp can up you on this one she uh she told me that when i was born at 3 30 p.m my dad left to uh go play in a band that he was performing at seven it was their first gig he didn't want to left

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 5:

Let the band down. Oh, my gosh.

01:40:01 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 2:

I would have killed him. Did he make it back to see you be born?

01:40:05 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 5:

So I was born at 3.30, and he left right after the birth. Oh, so he took off right afterwards. See you later. Oh, I would have killed him.

01:40:12 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wow. Mike, do not think about that. Anna, what's going on? How are you doing?

01:40:19 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm good. How are you?

01:40:21 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 2:

Good. You got something for Mike?

01:40:23 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Mike, you got to be careful because now the hospital's updated the TV where you can't plug in an hdmi so you can't hook up your yeah because we i just had a baby in june of last year and we brought our apple tv to plug in the tv and there was no hdmi you couldn't change the channels anything and that was a town hospital huh i wonder if they're worried about security

01:40:49 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 1:

issues of yeah or maybe content of what you're going to put on the tv it's gonna be harry pot

01:40:54 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think so. So now you can only watch the hospital TV.

01:40:58 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 2:

They probably don't want you to do that because it brings, like, a virus or something to it, you know? Yeah. Or they think that that's a possibility.

01:41:07 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 1:

But also you might put something inappropriate on that makes staff or other patients uncomfortable.

01:41:11 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

That's true. What's going on? Mojo in the morning. Hello. Hello. Kim, how you doing?

01:41:18 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, hi. I'm good. So, yeah, when I delivered at Metro, we brought our PlayStation in.

01:41:26 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 2:

Really? Definitely. And did you play along with Dad?

01:41:30 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no, no, no. So Dad was like, hey, this way we can watch movies. And so I was like, yeah.

01:41:38 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 6:

Because you can't watch movies, right? Yeah.

01:41:40 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 7:

You can't watch movies. So, yeah.

01:41:45 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 2:

Josh, what did you bring in to the delivery room?

01:41:52 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 4:

I brought one of my acoustic guitars. I got five kids and taught them all how to play instrumental. Anyhow, when my fifth child was being delivered, we just had some acoustic music, some finger-style acoustic music playing.

01:42:11 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

That's good if you're good at playing guitar.

01:42:13 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 1:

Right, if you're bad, the people out in the nurse's station are cursing you.

01:42:17 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 2:

How funny would it be if I had a DJ set going?

01:42:21 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 8:

Honestly, if I were in labor and delivery next door, I would love that. It would give me momentum to keep going.

01:42:32 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, hello?

01:42:34 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 8:

Hello.

01:42:35 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's my Chelsea. Hi, Chelsea.

01:42:37 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 8:

How many hours was I in labor?

01:42:38 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 2:

36 hours, wasn't it?

01:42:40 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 8:

32. I thought you said 26.

01:42:43 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 2:

No, 30, no, 36.

01:42:45 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 8:

And don't add on four because it was hell.

01:42:49 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

And?

01:42:50 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 8:

And you never should have left the hospital. Ever, ever. He said he bought you something. What did he buy you? No, he didn't. He did not. He bought himself something.

01:43:00 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, understand, understand, though. I needed to be fresh because there was days of taking care of that baby, Joe, after that.

01:43:08 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 7:

Who took care of the baby? Me.

01:43:12 - 01:43:13 | Unknown:

Oh, I don't think so.

01:43:13 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Remember, I was the one. Chelsea would make me take all the boys to go get their circumcisions and all the rest of that stuff.

01:43:19 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 8:

So you would have to walk them in the hallway. It's not like I could walk them in the hallway. I didn't make you go with them. I was in a bed recovering.

01:43:28 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 2:

Listen to how she wanted my kids to think of me. I had to take the kids to go get their penises chopped. Then I also had to go with her on the baby visits to Orchard Pediatrics when they had their shots, because I had to be in the room with them when they got their shots done, and she would leave the room.

01:43:46 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but they don't remember that. They're babies.

01:43:48 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 2:

No, no.

01:43:49 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 8:

They had to stand next to them.

01:43:50 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 2:

I had to be right there. They had to see me with the pain.

01:43:53 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 8:

Correct, and then I held them after.

01:43:55 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes, thank you. You're welcome. That's why they really love me now.

01:43:59 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 1:

Didn't you almost miss the delivery because you were in the cafeteria?

01:44:02 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 2:

No, that was Jacob. Oh, yeah. You're absolutely right. You remember that.

01:44:07 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 8:

But that was a quick one.

01:44:10 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 2:

Hospital food, the mashed potatoes, are the greatest mashed potatoes ever.

01:44:15 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 8:

I wouldn't know because I was busy pushing out your kids.

01:44:18 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

What do you think Mike should bring into the delivery room for when Allie gives birth to their baby?

01:44:23 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 8:

A very large diamond that he presents to her.

01:44:29 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 2:

Did Allie call you? That's it. Talk to you later.

01:44:34 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 3:

chelis brent what's going on trent hey mike um i had a baby last year and i brought my own monitor in for like my pc it solves all their problems it has hdmi there's no content restrictions or you can just bring in a little like 32 inch tv oh my god they were okay with it they didn't care no no they didn't care they didn't have an option like they didn't have a choice i brought it with me the first day and they're like what do you have and i was like my monitor to watch tv and they were like, oh, okay. And I was like, yeah, I'm going to be here for a while, so I'm doing what I want.

01:45:06 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 2:

It's true. You sit there for like a couple days afterwards.

01:45:10 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, my girlfriend had a C-section, so it wasn't like anything crazy. So it was just a quick slice open, pull out, and stitch back up.

01:45:19 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 4:

Mike, I want you to suggest to Allie that you give birth at the sports book in a casino, so you have things to do too.

01:45:27 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 2:

Rhonda, what did you guys bring with you into the delivery room?

01:45:30 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

ronda oh good morning good morning is that you hi so i'm gonna make everybody kind of a little jealous here i have six kids and none of my labors were over three hours oh so i didn't have i snow skiing the day before one of them so oh my gosh wow you couldn't even watch an avatar movie you weren't in long enough so in the in the last 10 years i've had two major hospitalizations first one i was right before christmas i brought had my kids bring in materials for tie blankets and i made myself a little corner in the hospital i moved to the asked to move to the room next to the window and i did 10 tie blankets in the week and a half i was there It was crazy.

01:46:22 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 2:

Mike, you need a grandma like this lady here. I know her, right? Could you do us a favor? Are you busy these days, Rhonda?

01:46:29 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a little bit.

01:46:31 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 2:

Will you sew Mike and Allie something for their baby? Sure, I will.

01:46:36 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 4:

Do they know what they're having?

01:46:38 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 2:

No. Are you going to find out, Mike? Uh-uh, not until the baby's born. Yeah. All right. The DJ set. Neutral colors.

01:46:47 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Perfect. Thank you, Mike. The other one, I just recently had a liver transplant, and I made my son bring in the fire stick because I couldn't stand being in there watching their TV, and my laptop was too small. I wanted it on my TV, and I'm too short. The nurse, I asked them to plug it in, and they're like, plug in what? I'm like, this, plug it into the TV. I don't know if we can do that. So the first time they went out of the room I climbed up onto the TV Thing and plugged it in

01:47:21 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Look at you Rhonda you're going to be Hurting yourself although you're in a good place If you do hurt yourself

01:47:28 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 1:

Was this before or after the liver transplant? After

01:47:31 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 2:

You were climbing after

01:47:34 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 4:

Rhonda

01:47:35 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

Rhonda you're a sweetie I just want to give you a hug right now Thank you

01:47:42 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 4:

I think he should learn to do a tight blanket, and he can sit there like that.

01:47:47 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 2:

I can only imagine you doing that. Alexis, what did you bring into the delivery room?

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 5:

I was in the hospital for two weeks, and I had an air fryer.

01:48:00 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 4:

An air fryer?

01:48:01 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 5:

How did they let you bring that in, and what in the heck were you making? You know, every food I could eat. didn't that stink up your room and the floor i was there for two weeks it was like a house for me

01:48:16 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 2:

i even had a haircut done oh wow that's awesome wait so lydia's screening calls and lydia says that you say you also brought in an xbox and a laptop so an air fryer xbox laptop and had your

01:48:29 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 5:

haircut yeah i was there for my water broke eight weeks early so i was living life there

01:48:35 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 2:

that's unbelievable thank you for the call thanks that's crazy would you like ronda to also uh crochet you something no all right thank you thank you for the call um all right mojo in the morning show phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number um megan just got invited to go to a school is it musical megan and what's the musical do you know um

01:49:08 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

aladdin i had to think about it i don't know why you asked me what show was and it was i can show you the world was the first thing that popped in my head and not the actual name of the show but i do have a problem what's that so my really good friend invited me i don't know if she wants to be named you know it screw it andrea invited me to go see her daughter perform in this show and um she invited me a while ago and i've seen her daughter perform like 8 000 times she is incredible this girl is going to be on broadway one day like if i could put my money on somebody it would be her and so we've seen her a whole bunch she's so talented she's so fun and i go yeah yeah of course i'll go and then i saw her yesterday and i said you know when is that show i know i said i would go i would put it down on my calendar and she said well it's on april 20th you guys that's a problem because that's

01:50:00 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 5:

It's my favorite holiday of the year. And my question is, is it appropriate to go totally suited to a child's musical because it's 420?

01:50:10 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 2:

It's on 420.

01:50:11 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

And I have priorities and expectations for how that day will play out for me. And I know what you're thinking, Megan. It's a few hours of your day. And I say a few precious hours on the best day of the year. So what do I do?

01:50:25 - 01:50:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think I wish I thought of that when I was going to all those school plays and performances. It probably would have made some of them go by a little better.

01:50:35 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 5:

How inappropriate? Is it like a total like no, no, or is it acceptable? Because I feel like before you parents judge me, I know on Saturday mornings at soccer games, when you're standing out in the rain, there's not coffee in your cup. Correct. So what is the difference? Yeah. Correct.

01:50:50 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 2:

It's really about masking it, right? You just can't bring a giant bong into the seat with you.

01:50:55 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 5:

And also for you, you're not the mom. You don't really have any responsibilities except to just clap.

01:51:00 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 1:

You're that aunt.

01:51:01 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 5:

So I think you're green light.

01:51:04 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 1:

It's a lot better, too, to be honest. Do you guys hear about this? There's a group of mothers known as Canna Moms. They're fighting to ease the stigma of mothers who use marijuana to help their parenting. so they're now calling themselves canna moms where they're uh out basically showing that it's okay to actually use legal marijuana and uh and are there any canna moms that are listening to the the show

01:51:32 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 2:

right now i appreciate they're coming out of the green closet so to speak hope you know shift the

01:51:38 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 1:

stigma a little bit i was talking to colt who you hear on uh channel 955 i'm sure that he probably maybe does fill-ins and stuff but he works out in our dallas station kiss and i was talking to him about how different it is that it's legal but yet you still don't feel comfortable enough to like go to like your family's you know christenings and stuff like that stoned yeah

01:52:03 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 2:

i think yeah because the older generation still feels that weird stigma about oh it's it's you know it's it's it's got a weird vibe to it because it's so funny how acceptable and laughing it is now when people joke about bringing roadies to the kids practices and stuff but it's see i don't get high though if i have to do a parent thing like i'll get i never would either yeah yeah but

01:52:26 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 1:

i and i also and i know that you know like i agree with you it's definitely more of you know the older the older but i i still don't know if i a would smoke like maybe an edible or something like that but i don't know if i would like sit there and just like start smoking a j at uh johnny's

01:52:44 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 5:

little uh basketball game or something like that before and also welcome to 2023 we we don't take joints out in public anymore we bring a little pen with us we hate it a few times you say that

01:52:57 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 2:

but talk to teachers on how many parents come to the parent teacher conferences smelling like a big grow facility.

01:53:05 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Megan, it's so funny when you see somebody try to fake the... I don't know if it's necessarily a weed pen or if it's a vape pen or vaping, but when you see them in a place where you're like, you're in church. What's going on there?

01:53:20 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 5:

I want to see God tonight.

01:53:27 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 1:

Danny, what's going on? Are you a canna mom?

01:53:30 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 3:

I am absolutely a canna mom. Listen, if I'm not high, my kids want me high.

01:53:35 - 01:53:35 | Unknown:

Okay?

01:53:38 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 3:

I have three boys under the age of 13, and if I'm not stoned, like, I'm probably, they're probably like, Mom, go back to bed.

01:53:48 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 1:

You're much more tolerable.

01:53:50 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 4:

And people are texting in that it should be Maramamas, not Cannaboms. I like that.

01:53:58 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 3:

I like it, too.

01:53:59 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 2:

Sounds like somebody just hit the weed pen and got creative this morning.

01:54:03 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

I am the mom that's walking up to Kroger like, well, let me just get one more hit of my bass before I go into this stuff. Right.

01:54:10 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 1:

Jen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:14 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 4:

I smoke before my son's orchestra concert to get through it.

01:54:20 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 2:

Does it get? To get through it.

01:54:22 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I send him in, and then I sit in the parking lot for about 10, 15 minutes, and then I go in right before it starts.

01:54:29 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 2:

Now, you're not getting blazing high, are you? I mean, like, because, you know, microdosing still allows you to function and be there for drop-offs and pickups and stuff. But if you're blazing, you got to talk to that kid afterwards.

01:54:42 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, I space out during the other grades. I do space out.

01:54:45 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 1:

Ah, okay.

01:54:46 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 4:

And I only pay attention to his.

01:54:50 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 1:

Joe, what's happening?

01:54:52 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so me and my friend took some shrooms before her daughter's recital. And when we got there, we didn't.

01:55:00 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 5:

I didn't realize that there was going to be flashing lights and it was the best trip ever. Oh, my God. I'm like, do you see that dinosaur on the stage? And my friend Ron is like, what dinosaur? I'm like, it's right there.

01:55:23 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Yeah, Megan, you're going to be awesome at this. Aladdin's never going to look the same Ever again to you

01:55:31 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm only scared that I'm going to start Singing along in the audience Oh that's great

01:55:36 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 7:

Chelsea you're also going to a kids play on 420

01:55:40 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 3:

Not a kids play But I'm going to see the Lion King At the Stranahan on 420 Oh hell yeah

01:55:47 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 4:

That's a great show

01:55:50 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you I'm totally singing Homegirl they are going to put puppets above you While you're sitting there You're going to love it. It's going to be great.

01:56:03 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 7:

What's happening, Christina?

01:56:06 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 4:

Hello. Hi. I 100% support Megan. I go high to everything involving my kids. Because I know I lose my mind.

01:56:19 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 7:

What's the craziest thing you were high for? Were you high for their baptism, their christenings, things like that?

01:56:26 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 4:

Sweet 16.

01:56:27 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 7:

Sweet 16.

01:56:28 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 4:

A bunch of loud teenage girls. Yes.

01:56:32 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 7:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. Have a good day, guys. I like it. I like this one. Steph, where did you get high before?

01:56:41 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 3:

So it was actually my mom and my uncle. They got high at my dad's funeral.

01:56:48 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 7:

So at the funeral. I mean, you know what? They're mourning, right? So they need to have a little bit something to kind of calm them down a little bit.

01:56:56 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. You know, it made them enjoy the day a little bit better.

01:57:01 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 7:

I would think that they should actually have that. Instead of, like, the priest doing incense, it should be spreading some marijuana.

01:57:09 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine if somebody, like, pulled a little prank one day and did that? And put it in there?

01:57:14 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 7:

Did you know that I was an altar boy when I was a kid, and I almost fainted from the incense? Because I had to carry that thing.

01:57:19 - 01:57:21 | Speaker 2:

It has a very strong, potent.

01:57:21 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

01:57:23 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 2:

Interesting smell.

01:57:24 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 7:

It's brutal.

01:57:25 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. Thank you. mojo in the morning on iheart radio now number one for podcasts listen to the mojo in the morning show on iheart radio and if you want to really have fun listen to the more mojo podcast it's rated r fun with mojo in the morning mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 shannon with what's

01:57:47 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 2:

trending in the dirty on the 30 well i do want to first start off with an update on the tragedy at Michigan State University. Those five students who were hospitalized after Monday night's suiting all remain in critical condition this morning. MSU police said the decision not to identify the victims was out of respect for them and their families. You may have seen a GoFundMe going around for one young woman, but aside from that, we do not know their identities. Last night, a vigil was held on campus at The Rock to support the victims and the survivors as everybody works to heal from this horrific situation. Among those in attendance, Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Tom Izzo.

01:58:27 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 1:

To the families of those who were senselessly taken from us, words seem so hollow right now. To the individuals currently fighting for their lives in a hospital and their families, we're praying for you and I know that my wife and I got a chance to go to the hospital. I know Governor Whitmer was there, and I know our president was there. Unbelievable people. There are so many good people in the world, the doctors, the nurses. Although, for me, I'm also a father of two Spartans of my own. I can't begin to imagine what all of you are going through.

01:59:13 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 7:

Tom, Tom, real quick, I'm sorry. also said that his son was in one of the buildings right after the shooting took place, too.

01:59:21 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Ten minutes after. Yeah. We also learned yesterday that the shooter had two guns with him in his backpack, along with several magazines of ammunition. The investigation into why Michigan State is still ongoing. So we'll provide you with details as we get them. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was living his best life at the team's championship parade. He was stumbling.

01:59:49 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 7:

He was as drunk as Tom Brady was a couple years back. Remember that one?

01:59:52 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

He was stumbling around on the roof of that red bus that the Chiefs were driving through the streets of Kansas City. I mean, it made me so nervous.

02:00:00 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 3:

He was chugging Coors Light. He was rocking that WWE championship belt. I think it was the same belt that he wore on Sunday when he was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time in his career. But hoisting his MVP trophy in one hand, had a beer in the other. So he was double fisting that way.

02:00:17 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 2:

We will not judge because we remember how drunk we all got when the Pistons won their championship and the Red Wings won their championship.

02:00:24 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 3:

I saw he had to be helped up at one point by quarterback coach Matt Nagy. I mean, he would just, did you see when he stopped to pee in the port-a-potty and when he came out of the port-a-potty, everybody's just going crazy.

02:00:37 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 1:

Remember last year when Matthew Stafford got, he ended up in his swimming pool at five in the morning.

02:00:43 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, and did a podcast, did his wife Kelly's podcast. Oh, that's great. Rihanna referred to motherhood as a quote unquote head F in a new British Vogue interview that dropped yesterday. She's on the cover, by the way, looking absolutely phenomenal. She said, you don't sleep at all, not even if you wanted to. You're a zombie for the most part. You're just going through the motions, and even then you're so paranoid. Preach. She said that she and A$AP Rocky had nobody to help after she gave birth in May. I think she was feeling the same thing that a lot of parents feel when you get home from the hospital, and you're like, okay, now what do I do with this little thing? But she said she loves every single moment of parenthood. She said, quote, it's everything. You really don't remember life before. That's the craziest thing ever. It just doesn't matter. And she said, by the way, for those wondering, she did not know that she would be carrying another child when she agreed to take the stage at this year's Super Bowl halftime show.

02:01:39 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

So they were Irish twins?

02:01:41 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yep. Sophie Lloyd, who is Machine Gun Kelly's guitarist, you might have also heard that name this week being thrown around as potentially the woman who is causing issues between MGK and his fiancée, Megan Fox. She said, nope, it wasn't me. Her management came out to make a statement and they said, Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media. And her team said any suggestion that she's ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship, she has a boyfriend of five years, are untrue. They said it's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and poor social commentary to be reporting anything else.

02:02:25 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 2:

Doesn't that always happen, though, with, you know, bands and actors and actresses?

02:02:30 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

I mean, there's a hot female guitarist. Of course it has to be her.

02:02:33 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 2:

And every time that you hear somebody's having issues in their relationship and they're like an actor or actress, it's always, oh, they're cheating with the co-star. Yeah, yeah.

02:02:43 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, let's just call it tooth fairy inflation. $20 for a first tooth has become the norm in many households across the country as the Childhood tradition is impacted by sky-high inflation. The latest data from Delta Dental found that the average cash gift, excuse me, however, from the tooth fairy, is about $5.36 per tooth. One person wrote that in their house, yes, the rates are now $10 to $20 for the first tooth and $1 to $5 for each lost tooth thereafter.

02:03:16 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Wasn't there a little inflation or kind of an argument over what to give and stuff? with your ex-husband?

02:03:24 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, it wasn't me, because Andrew and I decided that it was $1 for the first tooth, $2 for the second tooth, $3 for the third tooth. Lucy's on her 12th tooth.

02:03:32 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

02:03:33 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 3:

And now I'm like, this was a really bad idea. We told you not to do that.

02:03:36 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 2:

You lose 12 baby teeths?

02:03:39 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 3:

You lose 36. You lose 30?

02:03:42 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 1:

You lose them all?

02:03:42 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was in the 20s. I don't know.

02:03:44 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's in the 20s. It's not all 30s.

02:03:46 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 3:

But still, that's a lot of money when you're all said and done. Yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:06:41 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 4:

about what's the what's the sister my sister gifted me these things for my birthday that you like like sticks to the the like your jawline and goes around your ears and it's supposed to help you lift your tongue i don't know what is it like a mask too yeah yeah okay yeah i don't know my sister saw it on instagram and ordered them for me now that i'm old as she says but by the way

02:07:07 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 3:

it's funny it's funny i'm looking at this picture wes has to wake up looking at this yeah he got

02:07:11 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 4:

he was over there or no he facetimed me the other day and i had it on and he's like what what in So I explained to him, he's like, is that what I'm going to have to do with all this time?

02:07:22 - 02:07:23 | Speaker 5:

Yes. It's like a sling for your chin.

02:07:24 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 2:

It's funny the stuff that people will do because it is supposed to do what for you? It's supposed to lift your chin?

02:07:31 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 4:

It's supposed to help lift your jawline.

02:07:33 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 2:

Which is supposed to do what?

02:07:35 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 4:

Lift your jawline.

02:07:36 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand, but why do you want to lift a jawline? Is it to make you look younger or what is it?

02:07:41 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 4:

No, it makes your face look a little slimmer.

02:07:43 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

It's a load of crap. If things are going to sag, they're going to sag. Listen.

02:07:47 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 5:

What are those things that you put on your chin to scrape it and make a good jawline? Oh, yeah. The jade stones. I love using that.

02:07:58 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 4:

No, you're talking about the quinshot. Yes, I know what you're talking about. The scraper thing.

02:08:02 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. Get your lymphatic system. Your boys have been strapped into boxer briefs for the better part of your entire life. Did it keep your balls from sagging? No. The balls just sag when they want to sag. Exactly. So does your chin.

02:08:12 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:08:12 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, this has stuff on, like a product on it, too.

02:08:16 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny how nobody ever wants to get old or nobody ever wants to sag. Nobody wants to look like I, I, uh, I look at people and I wonder the people who just like they're happy, old, fat, whatever it is, lose their hair and they don't care about it. Like, I wonder like, what is it about that?

02:08:35 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Like what, what is the way people treat them? They're not treated well. You don't want to, you don't, you wanted to be treated well, but I have, I have an old

02:08:43 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 2:

uncle charlie braco uncle charlie and uncle charlie was fat bald and happy and i remember asking him one question i asked him i said what is the joy of your life and he said a cheeseburger and i said to myself i want to be charlie braco but i i wonder if deep down inside god rest his soul if he ever put a chin strap on you know i wonder if he ever did that behind closed doors

02:09:07 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 3:

i don't care enough about other people's opinions because i feel like it says more about them than it does about me and the only thing that i care about is like i'm getting mad now that i hurt all the time like i need to work out more because i'm i'm aching all the time for no reason at all but it's not an opinion thing is it is it's just a self-confidence thing that's what it is yeah

02:09:28 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 2:

some people have more self-confidence i will say this though i think that what happened was phones with cameras and social media and internet have made us all yes for sure yeah well and you

02:09:39 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 4:

see what your face looks like with certain filters and you're like oh okay i kind of like like i think that that has created it's effed us up in the head yeah to put it not lately made us very self-conscious about ourselves yeah yeah so it's funny because you go oh i could look like that

02:09:55 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

well we also don't which is bad have a rhyme or reason as to why we post a picture

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 3:

of ourselves like it's just for fun everything should be for fun then i'm testing something

02:10:05 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 2:

right now you want a chin strap no i want you randomly just to go around the room and nobody can pose take a picture of every person on the show right now and let's just post them up on social media everybody's everybody everybody's natural every morning no go go around because yesterday shannon said that she is okay with any picture being posted of her i'm not just go look what you just posted i'm gonna surprise hold on yeah i'm gonna do right there you go all right i'm posting that one right over here got that going there getting there i'm gonna take one here gauchwa by the name that's what i did all right send yours send it to me we're gauchwa here's here's our here's our uh our whatever we care about photos megan do you take one or no i'm

02:10:53 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 3:

not doing it why are you not because i don't look good today no come on megan no i did it you can do it no you guys don't understand the amount of ridicule i get mike that's a good that's way too good of a photo of you are you kidding me no no what is this did you use like an app for this

02:11:10 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 2:

yeah no it's like airbrush i swear to you i'll facetime you guys and you can take a picture of

02:11:15 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 1:

the facetime how about that all right everybody everybody's your eyebrows are sculpted mike did You just had those done?

02:11:20 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

I did get those done. Thank you very much. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to make everybody feel comfortable. Take whatever. And you can probably do this on Facebook. This is probably good for Facebook, KP, because then people can share their pictures.

02:11:36 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 3:

Wait, KP, you need one. Well, I got the picture of her. You got the camera right there. Oh, she was covering it.

02:11:41 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 1:

You can see my picture definitely looks like it. Why are you FaceTiming us?

02:11:45 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 2:

As I told you, just take a picture, regular. Somebody screenshot it. Take a picture. All right, here we go.

02:11:49 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 3:

Megan, send us one

02:11:51 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 2:

Mike, I think your photo is good Your photo is natural Then do this Then let's pick our own picture

02:11:58 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 3:

Let's do that

02:12:01 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Let's find it And then everybody's got to do this Everybody who follows us Has to send us What they're doing at that moment picture We want us to see what you look like Don't filter it If you filter it, we're calling your ass out

02:12:17 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 1:

tag us in the story and we can repost it yeah that's good too yeah you can do it for instagram

02:12:21 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 2:

i think that's a good idea i like the idea though i like the idea of in facebook then just going randomly down and looking at this just a bunch of these uh photos of people and what they're doing

02:12:32 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 3:

at this particular moment i don't know how to pronounce it guys okay you're texting i don't whatever it is what's what's called what that's what lydia was talking about it's this thing that you like drag along your jawline yeah that's exactly what it is it's it helps with drainage

02:12:53 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 2:

right oh my god drainage are like of all the toxins our chins drain well no it's not just for your chin don't you think that some of these people though like had the f has the fda approved any of this stuff or had there had there's been any kind of a uh like proof that these things work i'll try because i i think i've bought in my life so many different things over time that i've ended up having to just throw away or give away because they never end up working you know

02:13:24 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 1:

i feel like i should be rich because i don't buy all the beauty products because it is a trillion dollar industry and i'm like i don't buy all that stuff why aren't i rich the only thing i buy is lotion for my skin in the winter and beer yeah yeah so i got the beer belly going on that's my treat but uh but for some reason i'm not rich yeah i don't know myself where all my money goes

02:13:44 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 2:

too at the end of the month as well so you know what i want to do i want to like do say say wiping your dog's duty on your face will make you look younger and then have like some really hot 20 something instagram influencer do a commercial for it where she's rubbing duty make it a tiktok trend and i bet you people will do it and people randomly do it do you think that those aliens that are flying in those balloons that we're shooting down right now are laughing at us yes

02:14:10 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah or maybe they all have skinny wrinkle-free faces and they're like they're doing it well if

02:14:15 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 2:

that's the case we're going let's go to them why don't we move to whatever planet they're on so that we don't have to deal with that i often wonder that like eventually we're going to find out that there are aliens and you know we're going to be going to space and we're going to go see them. And wouldn't it suck if for all these years we just didn't enjoy the opportunity to go visit this gorgeous place that supposedly makes you look young and beautiful? If there's no gravity, then wouldn't we not sag? Oh, Mike. You're so smart. Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. You think your spouse is cheating? Text cheater to 95500.

02:14:57 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning. So Brian thinks that his, is it your wife, Brian? Yeah. You think that there's something going on between her and her ex. And it happens when she's around their kids?

02:15:21 - 02:15:22 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:15:23 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 1:

What happens?

02:15:26 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 3:

She kisses her ex on the lips, and it makes me crazy, you know?

02:15:30 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 1:

seeing that type of thing what do you mean like when uh when is she around her acts that kiss

02:15:36 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 3:

him on the lips you know because she's got joint custody with her kids so every time she goes to drop them off or pick them up she does that and you know she sees i'm there sometimes so she'll do it in front of me and she's acting like because that she does it in front of me she's not hiding anything but i don't like it you know we've talked about boundaries and i don't think i really need to explain this.

02:15:59 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 5:

So you told her you don't like it, but she continues to do it?

02:16:03 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course. I've told her I'm not. I don't like her doing that, and she still does it. She says it's not.

02:16:07 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 5:

But right in front of you.

02:16:09 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's interesting. She thinks I'm overreacting.

02:16:11 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:16:11 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 1:

I mean, honestly, that's interesting that she's doing it in front of you, so at least she's not hiding it.

02:16:16 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's what she's saying, but I don't know if that makes it right if he told her it makes him uncomfortable. Of course, you know. Is she somebody who kisses everybody on the lips, like friends, like is it a typical greeting for her?

02:16:28 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm married to her And I've only seen it with him

02:16:32 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 1:

And who's the initiator of the kiss? Because you know how somebody Goes in for a kiss right away?

02:16:40 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 2:

But you could change

02:16:41 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 1:

The last I'm going to wonder about Does he ever initiate the kiss to her?

02:16:47 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 3:

At this point I think they've done it So much that it's kind of like What they do

02:16:51 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Because if someone wants to kiss me on the lips And I don't want to kiss them on the lips I'm deflecting, I'm not kissing on the lips

02:16:58 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine how weird that would be? I mean, listen, you're a very patient guy.

02:17:06 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 5:

I'm friends with my ex, but I still wouldn't think about kissing him on the lips at this point.

02:17:11 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys ever hug?

02:17:12 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 5:

We hug. Yeah, but even like a hug isn't like a, not like a good tight squeeze. Is it a bro hug? It's like a quick, you know, I appreciate you. Yeah. Okay. Yes.

02:17:22 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 1:

All right. We're going to call and we're going to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. It's our War of the Roses. Brian, mute your phone.

02:17:42 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Hi, is this Sydney? Hi, Sydney. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm actually calling with an offer for some free flowers for you with a little twist. We're hoping that you will select a male to send this free floral arrangement to. A recent survey showed that 60% of men would actually enjoy receiving flowers. So we're trying to grow our business there. And I'm hoping that you have about 30 seconds to answer two quick survey questions for me. And we can get these flowers off today. And again, it's not going to cost you anything.

02:18:20 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 4:

Can you tell me how you got my first and last name?

02:18:23 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 5:

Um, honestly, I, I believe our company just buys lists from something else that you signed up for.

02:18:29 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that, that is so annoying. That's why I always, I'm sorry. I know, I know. It just seems cool. Yeah.

02:18:37 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 5:

But, but this is nice because again, I'm, I'm, I mean, it's free.

02:18:42 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 4:

You're not going to ask me to pay for anything. I'm not going to have to give you like credit card or any personal. Nope.

02:18:48 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 5:

None of that. Literally where I, you're going to answer these two questions. I'm going to start an account for you, and then hopefully in the future when you order flowers, you'll use us.

02:18:55 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, hold on, hold on. Starting an account? So, like, am I going to get, like, monthly ****? Are you going to bill me next? No. Kind of a thing? Not like a subscription?

02:19:02 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 5:

No. If you use us again, we'll already have your information on file. It just makes it easier. I promise you it's not sketchy.

02:19:10 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 4:

Wait, hold on. I'm just, like, sketched out because you, like, knew my last name. That's kind of weird. So I'm just making sure this isn't something I'm signing up for, like, to be billed or something.

02:19:18 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 5:

You are not signing up for anything except to get the flowers out today. That's it.

02:19:24 - 02:19:24 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:19:25 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm trusting you. I'm trusting you. Okay. Okay. What are the questions?

02:19:30 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 5:

Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Sydney? Um, let me think about that.

02:19:35 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

Hang on. Um, oh, I actually did for my, for my mom. Yeah.

02:19:39 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:19:44 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 4:

Um, oh, that I don't know. I usually just send my mom flowers, like, once a year for her birthday. Okay. Not sure about that.

02:19:50 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, rosesbloom.com is now authorized to provide you with this free floral arrangement. So I first...

02:20:00 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 3:

need to get the first and the last name of who these are going to go to okay and I can pick anybody doesn't matter you can you can pick anybody we're we're kind of promoting one certain arrangement and it's definitely more masculine I would say if that makes sense okay yeah I'll send

02:20:20 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 5:

Welcome to Brian's ****.

02:20:23 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And before I get Brian's phone number from you, I am creating this account, again, just so when you order from us, it's easier in the future. What is his relationship to you? He's my husband. Okay. And, Sydney, this is something unique to our service as well. We can also do what's called a digital voice card. You can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered via a text that Brian will receive. Did you want to do that? Sure. Okay, so just think of something kind of short and sweet to say, and I'll count you down, and you can go ahead. Okay?

02:21:03 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Okay, hold on. I'm not that creative. I feel like I'm on the spot here. Okay.

02:21:10 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay, ready? Okay. Okay, three, two, one.

02:21:14 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 5:

hey babe hope these make you smile have a great day no that was bad that was bad like i don't even know what to say no that was actually good it was good is that okay it was perfect yep um

02:21:26 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 3:

sydney real quick i have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and

02:21:29 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 2:

training purposes are you okay with that sure awesome sydney i'm going to jump on so that i can gather the rest of the info and then we're going to send those flowers off but i have to say one last thing to you while we were asking you who you wanted to send flowers to that your husband brian heard every word that you just said because this is the mojo in the morning show and we were doing the war of the roses uh i thought so you thought so i kind of thought something in

02:22:06 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 5:

And he was like, this is so does that way?

02:22:09 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Does that mean that you would have sent them to Brian or would you have sent them to somebody else?

02:22:14 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 5:

You know, I've never sent a guy flowers. So, I mean, all right.

02:22:21 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 4:

Well, this is an experiment, but it's going to be like, well, why? I don't know. So my husband would be like, what did you do? How much did you spend on Amazon this month?

02:22:30 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 2:

i do have i do have to ask you a couple quick questions here and first off say hi to brian hey brian we we we have to ask you one quick question before we let you go and before we send these flowers off and it's the reason why we're calling you um brian's weirdness and in why he wanted us to try war of the roses with you all stems from the fact that he told us that when you and your ex-husband greet each other you guys kiss each other and that kind of threw all of us off because i think we were all surprised that you're kissing your your ex-husband okay you're

02:23:19 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 5:

really making this a thing because like this isn't this isn't a thing you don't think that

02:23:27 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 2:

that's that's a an unusual thing it doesn't it doesn't seem very common uh i i would think

02:23:33 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 5:

okay well i i can understand how maybe like some people would think that that's weird but my ex and i had a very amicable divorce i have two kids that you know go back and forth yeah i want to show a proper example that mom and dad don't have some messed up like anger and like you know i don't want to like i want my kids just to see that we're like happy and fine i get it's admirable yeah it's

02:24:05 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 1:

good to be amicable and we know on this show firsthand it's great when you have that opportunity but he also told you how much it bothers him and you still do it right in front of him

02:24:15 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 5:

well and i guess i do it in front of him to to let him know there's no issue i don't know like i've had the conversation with my kids like mommy and daddy still love each other we just

02:24:29 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 2:

you know don't always get along i don't how old how old wait how old are your kids

02:24:35 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 5:

three and a half and five oh so they are young like there's three and a half and five so can i

02:24:43 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 2:

just say that it does make him feel uncomfortable. Am I right in saying that, Brian? Yeah, I'm not a fan of it. So maybe one thing that you could do is let Brian also get in on the kiss. I do think there are other, I mean, even just, like, a good hug would still show them that, like, mom and dad are good. We, you know, we love each other and we have a good relationship without it affecting Brian so severely.

02:25:13 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and, I mean, I love him, so my current husband, I definitely don't have him.

02:25:20 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 2:

Like, you don't want to mess up that relationship.

02:25:22 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 1:

No, I mean, I don't have a problem, like, pulling back. I mean, if it really bothers them that much, I mean, I think so bad.

02:25:30 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 4:

We're going to send those flowers off, and we're also going to discuss this some more with our listeners to see what their thoughts are on this.

02:25:37 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, great. Okay, so now I'm the topic of the day, that I kissed my ex. Oh, gosh. Okay.

02:25:43 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 4:

Hold on one second, okay?

02:25:45 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:25:48 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 3:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:26:00 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

02:26:01 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning show. All right. Let's get into this thing here right now. It's nice to know that we don't necessarily have a cheating situation here, right? I mean, even though I think that we got a little had by Sydney where she knew or acted like she knew that it was us. So you were with a woman, and she would kiss other guys?

02:27:13 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

Just a little bit about my background. So I'm a police officer, so if you guys hear my radio coming through, I apologize in advance.

02:27:19 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 4:

Are we on duty right now?

02:27:21 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to confirm nor deny anything. Okay. All right.

02:27:26 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 4:

Breaker, breaker. Well, thank you for serving. We appreciate it. Thank you. So what's the story?

02:27:32 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 3:

So I was married for 13 years. my ex-wife she was the love of my life there wasn't anything i wouldn't do for her i worshipped her we had two beautiful daughters together and we had a bow renewal 10 years into it like i thought i thought she was my soulmate that's who i was gonna die with and but she had this really bad habit when she'd go to parties she'd kiss other dudes And she'd kiss him on the cheek And she'd always tell me Well, you know, we're just friends So it's fine But I told her I wasn't comfortable with it

02:28:12 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 4:

Were they friends of yours? Like mutual friends of yours that she was kissing?

02:28:15 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they were like mutual friends

02:28:17 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 4:

But she would kiss them on the cheek, you say

02:28:20 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 3:

She would only kiss them on the cheek But I was still uncomfortable with it Because she wouldn't do that to anybody else Even other mutual guy friends She wouldn't kiss There would only be, like, one or two guys who I knew she kind of had a little crush on.

02:28:34 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, and you knew she had a crush on them?

02:28:37 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, thought they were cute or hot or whatever.

02:28:39 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, you can just tell, you know, when there's a little bit of chemistry between two people, especially when you're social drinkers like we were.

02:28:48 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So once you told her this bothered you, did she stop?

02:28:52 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

No, she kept doing it. It led to issues. There was one time at a wedding, I actually got into a fist fight with somebody because she kissed this dude. And then his wife, like, went up and assaulted her.

02:29:06 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 4:

Assaulted your wife?

02:29:08 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:29:09 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 4:

She obviously felt uncomfortable, too.

02:29:11 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, like, and I'm not going to say she didn't have that one coming, but she was my wife. I had to stick up to her. All right.

02:29:19 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 2:

So let's fast forward this now. Yeah. At some point, this got messy because you're saying that she is now your ex-wife. So what happened that was the straw that broke the camel's back?

02:29:28 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 3:

So this wasn't why we broke it off. Like, this was something I just ignored for 13 years.

02:29:34 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:29:36 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

And eventually, as soon as she got a job where she doubled her income, she went from working, you know, like part-time at a hospital to working full-time in the private sector. She left me, like, instantly. It was like, you know, when somebody treats their spouse like that, who they took vows to spend the rest of the time.

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 5:

of their life with, and they pledged undying love and loyalty to, you'd think that if they loved you, they wouldn't just keep doing something that they knew made you feel uncomfortable. Yeah, don't make me feel uncomfortable. Right.

02:30:12 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm sorry that that happened. I think it's very, very sad. I do have to tell you, though, that in this case, I think it might be a little different. And I'm playing devil's advocate on this one, but it's an ex-husband and father of your children and if he's she's only kissing in front of the children is it really that bad uh

02:30:33 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 4:

joe is it bad that she's kissing her ex oh yeah it's definitely bad brian needs to leave like she is not respecting those boundaries i mean we're not trying to you know create more cheaters with our children um you know kids are personally fine seeing their mom and dad you know happy as friends there's no reason to be kissing on the list and i feel like if we could have done the three-way calling this morning between her and her husband we would have caught them up yeah okay yeah you

02:30:59 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 3:

know what we uh thought about the three-way we asked if we could do it and uh it it was not something that brian wanted to do we had to respect his wishes on that one otherwise we would

02:31:08 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

have erin mojo on the morning show your comment hi mojo um i have divorced parents all my half siblings have divorced parents they've never kissed after being divorced and they shouldn't

02:31:21 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 5:

it's super weird there's plenty of ways to show you're friendly and you get along without it

02:31:25 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 1:

right yeah i mean i'm an adult if i saw my parents kiss on the lips it would be so weird uh to me

02:31:33 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 3:

yeah wouldn't it that'd be weird i will say this it's nice like i think it's nice when you see couples that get divorced and they can be civil with each other but there is a point where civility

02:31:44 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 1:

needs to like separate itself not even that there's there's a line yes i think there's a

02:31:49 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 3:

And I honestly think this, and I don't know if this is the case. I don't know if this has ever been the case with you, Shannon. But I think that sometimes, like, I don't think that you need to necessarily call each other and talk to each other if it's not necessarily about the kids. I really don't. Because I think if I was in a relationship, if I was married or dating a woman who had children, and I know she was constantly calling her husband or ex-husband.

02:32:16 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 1:

For stuff that was not related to.

02:32:18 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 3:

And it had nothing to do with my kids. I'd be uncomfortable with it. You know?

02:32:21 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:32:23 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 3:

Lynette?

02:32:24 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you guys? Love you.

02:32:25 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too. Hold on. I haven't had Vonda in a while.

02:32:27 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too.

02:32:28 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

02:32:29 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I want to let you know I am divorced, and I'm married to my second husband. But never any time did I, you know, like, kiss my former husband. I think, really, it's great to have – it's awesome to have a great relationship, but I think you're kind of, like, crossing the line when you actually kiss them. And I think that's just another –

02:32:48 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 3:

Would you hug each other?

02:32:50 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, of course. Yeah, we would hug each other.

02:32:52 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 3:

Lingering hugs?

02:32:53 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 2:

No. No, quick hugs.

02:32:55 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:32:56 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 2:

But I think you're kind of sending your kids a mixed message of crossing that line and actually kissing that person.

02:33:03 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's confusing for them.

02:33:05 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's confusing for them, but I have, like, the best of both worlds. I mean, I have a great relationship with my ex-husband and a great relationship with my second husband. And, actually, they both get along well. So we can have family events. They actually hang out together, drink beer together, and I'm so blessed.

02:33:21 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you want to know how it doesn't get well? You start kissing. That'll never happen. Or you know what also happens? Hot tubbing. Don't ever hot tub together as couples. That's a bad idea.

02:33:33 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 4:

I think that'd be obvious, but we have to say it sometimes.

02:33:35 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 3:

David, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:33:38 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you guys doing?

02:33:39 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic, David. David, you and your ex kiss, and you guys are dating others?

02:33:46 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we've been divorced for 10 years, but we were always friends, and it's really not a big deal. I mean, there's nothing sexual there, and I'm talking when we kiss on the lips, it's not like five, seven seconds. It's just like a pack one second thing, but I was never really jealous of her. She's not the cheating type. And, you know, we still do. She invites me and my girlfriend to holiday dinners. You know, it's like we all pale around everything.

02:34:26 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 3:

So it's never become an issue, though, with her guy? By the way, that lingering pause kind of makes me think it has been an issue.

02:34:41 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 5:

Well, she hasn't been involved, like, enough, you know, in front of me where it ever became an issue, but it's not an issue with my girlfriend.

02:34:51 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:34:51 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 5:

Because, like, at the end of the day, it's like, you know, we leave and we're together.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

If it were an issue, would you stop?

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, just out of respect.

02:35:02 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, okay. All right, well, listen, thank you so much. We appreciate you so much.

02:35:08 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think it's really a big deal unless there's, like, chemical sexual sparks going flying, you know?

02:35:16 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 10:

Okay. All right, take care of yourself.

02:35:19 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank you.

02:35:20 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 10:

Andre, hi.

02:35:22 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo, how are you?

02:35:24 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 10:

I'm okay, Andre. Will you add a little light to this War of the Roses?

02:35:28 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think her and her ex-husband can get them a LeBron James fist pound. I think a good fist pound. Don't say the word pound. Bump. Fist bump, yeah. A good fist pound would be good because, you know, you want to respect your mate's wishes. You know, when someone tells you that it makes them feel uncomfortable in a marriage, you should do your best to try because that's grounds for disaster. So a good LeBron James fist pound between the eggs better be awesome.

02:36:01 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 10:

That's a good idea. Thank you for the call. Good old LeBron fist pound, he says.

02:36:09 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 9:

You're home of the phone scams.

02:36:11 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 4:

War of the Roses. And the Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:15 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 9:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:17 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:36:20 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 10:

Got a special guest joining us after the Dirty coming up here in just a second. And we have Taylor tickets, Taylor Swift tickets, text Taylor right now to 95500 for a chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift in June. Shannon with the dirty on the 31st.

02:36:37 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there was a big on-campus vigil at the Rocket Michigan State last night to support all of the victims and also the survivors of Monday night's tragedy. Governor Grotchen Whitmer was on hand to speak.

02:36:50 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Our Spartan community is reeling this week, and our lives and our hearts break for those lives that were shattered by gun violence. We mourn Arielle and Al, as she was known to her loved ones, and Brian, who were taken from us far too soon. We think about their families, recalling their last visit home. We hurt for their friends, who are remembering their last conversation or maybe rereading text messages. and we are hoping for those who are fighting for their lives in the hospital, and we hold each other closer.

02:37:28 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 4:

Men's basketball coach Tom Izzo also said a few words speaking about the need to come together as a community.

02:37:34 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 6:

But as well as our entire university community who was impacted by the horrific actions Monday night, I'm representing our athletic department, and I feel like Michigan State, my 40th year here. I don't like the place. I don't love the place. I live the place.

02:37:53 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 4:

The investigation into a motive, while the five other shooting victims' critically wounded fight to recover is ongoing. It is Breaking Dirty just announced a few minutes ago, Ryan Seacrest is leaving live with Kelly and Ryan, and Kelly's husband, Mark Consuelos, is taking his place.

02:38:11 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 9:

So, Kelly and I have some news here. This is something that she and I have been talking about for a long time, and it it was a tough tough decision last year we spoke and I made the decision to make this my last season as co-host with Kel here on live with Kelly

02:38:31 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 3:

and Ryan which is bittersweet I get it no I mean listen you are a gem you are one of my best friends and I said like the greatest part of this entire experience has been that you've gone from being a friend to a family member.

02:38:52 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 9:

I feel that way about both of us. Yeah. It's remarkable to be able to sit in this chair. So what I plan to do. What is he going to do? American Idol starts from Los Angeles live later in the spring. I'll head out to the West Coast. It's going to start a podcast. The 21st season of American Idol from Los Angeles. And you're not getting rid of me because, Gellman, I'm coming back to guest host. and fill in right here in this chair.

02:39:17 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 10:

Interesting. Can I ask the question? Yes.

02:39:20 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 7:

The question we were all thinking? Yeah. Why did she go through so many co-hosts?

02:39:24 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 10:

Well, he is coming back to guest host. They are really good friends, so they do get along really well.

02:39:32 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 8:

It's not even that. I'm not even saying she's the problem. I'm saying why is that chair rotated so often? It doesn't have to be her, but like.

02:39:41 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 10:

I don't know, but it's interesting. She didn't like her.

02:39:43 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

02:39:44 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 10:

I will say this, though, that I don't know how Ryan does it. I really don't.

02:39:49 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 9:

Finally realizing maybe he can slow down.

02:39:51 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 10:

You can't spend that much money, and do you really want that much stress in your life, you know, with all the stuff? What's going on?

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Actress Florence Pugh was seen.

02:40:00 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 1:

walking hand in hand with a new guy on valentine's day and they were wearing matching bands on their ring fingers very interesting she's played with her longtime boyfriend zach braff last year so who is this guy his name's charlie gooch he is a normal not famous british dude who she went to school with in oxford that's all i know in other celebrity relationship dirty camila cabello and locks club founder ceo uh austin kevitt have ended their relationship after about eight months together. That news was confirmed in a recent newsletter that was sent to Lox Club members. And if you don't know what Lox Club is, it's a membership-based dating app, primarily for Jewish people. The newsletter just said, Austin is single again. Left no questions.

02:40:45 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 4:

Why did she go through so many relationships? I'm going to ask that question. She and Kelly, who has more people?

02:40:53 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 1:

Chuck Tank, co-host. Kevin O'Leary was slammed on social media yesterday after posting a video in which he's seen just sobbing while purchasing a swish, swish, oh my God, swish, swish, swash, a swish.

02:41:07 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 4:

See, I told you it wasn't that easy.

02:41:08 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 1:

Wrist watch. There we go. I don't even know how to say the name of this brand. Out of Mare's Pig, Pigway?

02:41:14 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 4:

No idea.

02:41:15 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 1:

It's fancy. I don't know the exact price. I only know it's more than $100,000 and they can go for up to $700,000. And so there's this dramatic piano music playing in the background and a very emotional Kevin O'Leary from Shark Tank again. He's seen like looking at this watch and he wipes tears from both eyes. He wrote as the caption, it's incredible. I can't believe I'm holding it. The only one in the world. And he said he buys himself a collector watch every so often as a way to reward himself for making such lucrative financial transactions. One of the comments was it does the exact same thing as a $15 Walmart watch. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:42:05 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 4:

Guys, obviously we know that Valentine's Day was just a couple of days ago. And it is the month that we all worry about our hearts, both loving-wise, but also our legit hearts. Like, we've got to worry about our hearts. It's actually Heart Month. And, you know, I went through surgery a couple of years back that completely changed my life. And I want everybody to know that there was one person that made things so much better for me, aside from my wife. If she could do the operation, I would have trusted her. But on the phone with us right now is the surgeon who did the heart surgery on me. I've talked about him numerous times, but he's never come on the air until I asked him to come on the air now as we're trying to raise money for U of M's Healthy Hearts campaign that's going on right now. Dr. Patel is on the phone with us right now. Say hello, guys, to the man who had my heart. Did you have my heart in your hands, Dr. Patel? Where was my heart at that time?

02:43:07 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Mojo, and dear colleagues. Yes, I did. I had the privilege of being able to do something like that. Isn't that great?

02:43:16 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, doctor. I appreciate it. Can I ask this, Dr. Patel? Is my heart as fat as I am? Like, is it, do you remember what my heart, like, was it memorable to you at all?

02:43:26 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 3:

It was like a rocket. The thing took off when we had to restart it, took off like a rocket. It was perfect.

02:43:33 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy. You know, it's funny. We've become friends, and I thank you so much all the time for what you've done for me, especially because of the aneurysm is something that is hereditary. Now, Dr. Patel is like, you need to immediately have your siblings get checked out, which now I have two siblings that have the same thing that I have. And then my children are getting checked out this year, too. So it's very scary. But with it being heart month and with what you guys do at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center is unbelievable, Dr. Patel.

02:44:06 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you. I think, you know, the one thing to remember is that heart disease does two things. It is associated with some of the highest death rates in the United States, but really it does two things. It takes away people from their families and their loved ones too early. And the second thing is that if it doesn't take away people, what it does is it prevents them from living their life to their fullest. And really, you know, what we're doing this month is is raising awareness for for heart disease, which is a number one killer in the United States.

02:44:43 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable. I made the appointment size when Mojo's two year anniversary came up of his heart day. I said, how do I still have the I have no excuse that I still haven't made the appointment. So I finally got in there, got my stress echocardiogram and my calcium CT. tests and everything all scheduled up for next month because I have no excuse, but it's the one, like, my children should never forgive me because it's so preventable and detectable. You just need to make that appointment.

02:45:12 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. You need to see a provider. And I think along with it comes the responsibility to do all the things that we should be doing. You hear about it on radio and TV all the time, you know, getting more active, eating right, exercising, you know, connecting with friends and family. All of these things are important to kind of stem the course of heart disease, which just naturally happens as we get older.

02:45:35 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 1:

And Dr. Patel, when I'm sitting in a waiting room there at that gorgeous hospital of yours, there's a lot of women sitting in those chairs, too. And I think that a lot of times people think that it's a it's a male disease, heart disease. It's actually not.

02:45:51 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 3:

No, I think you raise a very important point. It affects everybody, and obviously the two risk factors that you can't control, getting older is a big risk factor. Being male is a risk factor, but having family history is a risk factor. So all of these things are part and parcel of it, but it affects women just as well as men. So everybody should be aware of this lethal problem.

02:46:17 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 1:

And if you're not feeling right, make sure that you say something. Don't just sit there because women are this way. Women wake up and they're like, oh, you know.

02:46:25 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 3:

I have so much on my plate. I don't have time.

02:46:27 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 1:

Seriously. And then you hear these stories about people having strokes and stuff. So I do want to mention this. A very nice fine gentleman by the name of Gary Anderson who also, like me, was a patient at U of M in Michigan Medicine. He put up his own money, $25,000, that he will match your gifts that you give to the Heart Hospital, which will help them be able to provide for people they can't provide and also continue to do more research and stuff. So if you would make a donation in anybody's memory, it could be in memory or in thanks for a family member of yours that has a heart problem or heart issues, the website's a little bit long, but I'm going to give you a number for texting. victors.us.umhealthyhearts2023. So victors.us.umHealthyHearts2023 Or you can text HEART, the word HEART, to 734-749-9126 That's 734-749-9126 Text the word HEART Dr. Patel, Spike, do you understand something about Dr. Patel?

02:47:38 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 2:

What's that?

02:47:38 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Patel has a better parking spot at U of M than Jim Harbaugh does

02:47:43 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow, that's deserving No one's going to argue with that.

02:47:47 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Patel, honestly, you get treated.

02:47:52 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 2:

Do you see Coach Harbaugh? Because that man gets pretty heated in some of those games.

02:47:58 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 3:

Unfortunately, I've never had the privilege of meeting Coach Harbaugh, though I'd love the opportunity to do so.

02:48:02 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this guy, you are seriously, Dr. Patel, I mentioned you on the air, and I also, you know, over time have met so many people that have gone through your, you know, operating room and everybody says the same exact thing, just the kindness that you showed. And Chelsea tells me all the time about just how amazing you were with her as she was freaking out, you know, during that surgery. So thank you again for what you've done for me and my family.

02:48:27 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was certainly a pleasure, but I think, you know, I, while people say things about me, I just want to, first of all, really recognize those people who I work with here at the hospital. There are so many people that do their very level best to get patients like you through a very difficult time. But I do appreciate your acknowledgement. Thank you.

02:48:49 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 1:

He did that because his nurse, Mary, would kill him if he didn't. I tell Mary I said hi. I love you, Dr. Patel. Thank you so much.

02:48:56 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 2:

Thanks a lot. Don't like the weather? Just wait 10 minutes. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Good. How are you? Good. Is this Lisa that lives on 14211? My office is responsible for code enforcement. I guess there's a growing problem concerning your house, and some neighbors have contacted us, and that's why I was calling you.

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 3:

Do you have a second to talk?

02:50:01 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 4:

You can call me on my cell phone at home.

02:50:04 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 3:

02:50:09 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 4:

That's fine. Put it in writing and send it to me.

02:50:11 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, if I put it in writing, it might be a fine. That's why I'd rather talk to you first so that we don't have to send a fine out automatically.

Okay.

02:50:38 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 3:

Now that I see what they're talking about, you have a shed full of decorations here, and do you understand why some people might complain that it looks like a junkyard?

02:50:45 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 4:

Did you just say the word junkyard?

02:50:46 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 3:

And I'm not a critic. My job is to settle residential disputes. And as it stands now, two-year neighbors have filed a complaint, and they're trying to pass around a petition to have your decorations removed. And obviously that's not how we handle things here. I mean, if you told me you were on a drunken bender and a...

02:51:02 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 4:

02:52:09 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 5:

I gotta be honest with you I'm excited that the week is almost over I'm excited that we can hopefully get some semblance of order around here It's been just craziness Some healing It's been an unbelievable week Yesterday I had a conversation with, through text, with Kaylin, who is on the Fred show. She used to be one of our interns. Do you remember Kaylin? Yeah. I know you do. I'm asking Elizabeth. I know you remember Kaylin. She's my neighbor. But, no, I was talking to her through text because yesterday she did a segment on her show where she talked about how, you know, her sister is a student over at Michigan State. and she was talking about how her sister had to shelter in place with friends and they actually were all, you know, there right in the heart of the union when this was going on and just how traumatizing that was for her to, you know, and for all those kids that had to do that. And those kids, you know, are all unbelievable. They should all be commended for how they followed the orders to shelter in place and it helped the police to be able to do what they had to do. So long story short, it has really affected Kaylin as a sister because she wants to be there with her little sister. And I can't imagine just how much this is affecting somebody like that. It's affecting everybody. It's affecting relatives. I've gotten people reaching out to me all the time thinking that Luke's going there because they knew that we told you that he was going to go next year. and then people that were telling me about their family members, and then we found out that the other day that we may know one of the people that's in the hospital right now, and I don't want to speculate at all, but it's obvious that their families have been kind of MIA and not talking to people, but friends have been telling us to say some massive prayers. Oh, there's a news conference right now that we told you that we were going to try to see if we can find out more information. This is a news conference on when there will be they'll be back to school.

02:54:27 - 02:57:26 | Speaker 1:

I serve as the interim president at Michigan State University. And through the tragic week that we've all experienced, we thanked many people who have been instrumental in the response and the recovery to Monday night's horrific events. And one group that we haven't yet thanked is the media. And so, at the outset today, I want to offer my thanks on behalf of a grateful university to all of you who helped spread the photo of the shooter on Monday night. That led to the tip that came in and the conclusion of this event. You helped our community, you helped our state, and you helped our nation stay informed and allowed us to be more transparent as we all worked and walked together on this pathway. So I wanted to begin today just with a thank you to everyone in the media for helping to spread that essential and timely information. today in this news conference are going to provide updates on the investigation and law enforcement matters, and so my comments are going to be brief, and they're going to focus on three areas. First, where are we now, what's next, and the process that's going to guide our decisions as we move forward. As you'll soon hear, the five students at Sparrow are still in critical condition, but I'm pleased that we are seeing some signs of improvement in some of our students. And our Our Spartan Nation continues to send good thoughts to each of them, to their families, and to the doctors and nurses at Sparrow Hospital. As I've said before, grief is a profoundly personal thing, and we know from trauma experts and from talking to colleagues at other universities who have experienced similar tragedies, everyone grieves differently and the recovery process isn't linear. So each member of our campus will have different needs and our focus is on providing as much flexibility as possible in supporting the diverse needs of this campus community. So as we move forward, I ask the campus and everyone in our Spartan community and extended family as represented here to provide empathy and grace and the knowledge that each person's support may be different and we will be considerate of that. I'm extremely grateful for the quick actions that we've had pulling together the many counseling and support services this week. We know that many in the community will continue to need services for months to come and that some haven't reached out yet. But I am encouraged and can be reported that hundreds of students have already utilized our counseling services that were provided at the Hanna Community Center or in our residence halls. We also provided a service to employees

02:57:26 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 1:

that is called Reflect and Connect. And we're looking into training for supervisors as more faculty and staff begin returning to positions today and into next week. We are encouraging empathy and patience and an atmosphere for all to recover at their own pace, and we'll continue to offer these services into the future. Today, MSU is resuming standard operations after 48 hours of being in modified operations. While we are returning to standard operations, classes remain suspended through Sunday. This standard operations means that the university offices are open, but in this case, with wide latitude provided to supervisors across our university network. The two buildings, Berkey, remains closed for the remainder of the semester. The second building, the Union, is still being evaluated for decisions to be reported later. FBI Special Agent in Charge of Michigan, Jim Tarasca, will report in just a moment on access to those buildings for students, faculty, and staff who still have...

02:58:38 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

That's actually big news because now that means all those classes that are in Berkey Hall, which, by the way, is one of their biggest buildings for academic buildings, where they have the massive rooms that they need to provide. So they're going to have to use other facilities for that. So a lot of people were wondering what they were going to do with both of those. And two of the fatalities took place at Berkey Hall. So it sounds to me like the union might still then stay open. Um, or take some time to open, but we'll open after this, but all right. So we'll, we'll continue to monitor that and we will continue to monitor exactly the investigation by the police and the FBI. And you heard, if you were just tuning in right now, the five that are at Sparrow hospital are still in critical condition. So they're still in critical condition. So still, uh, continue to, uh, to be thinking and, and, and, you know, praying for those, uh, those families. uh kool-aid lady is on the phone with us right now uh kool-aid lady who was in the hospital for for listeners we kept it private until i had an opportunity to talk to her and i did get a chance to talk to her we talked on on sunday kool-aid lady when you got out of the hospital

03:00:00 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 1:

And you're doing better. That's good.

03:00:03 - 03:00:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, back to my crazy self, man. Oh, good.

03:00:06 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 1:

She was in the hospital. It was not good, you guys. Yeah, I got. Yeah. Go ahead, Cooley.

03:00:12 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 4:

I got smacked with that pneumonia, boy. Oh, no. She did.

03:00:17 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 1:

And the great people at the hospital, where were you at? You were at Beaumont-Dearborn, or where were you?

03:00:24 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 4:

Beaumont-Dearborn.

03:00:26 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And the great nurses and doctors, they all knew who she was. Oh, yeah. Isn't that awesome? They all were, they were, they, they, they right away were like, hey, you're the lady that we hear all the time.

03:00:39 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 4:

They, they, they came with like, oh, what the, the doctor brought another doctor and they said, yeah, this is the Kool-Aid lady.

03:00:45 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes, that's a great, that's where my dad and my stepmom worked for a long, long, long, long time.

03:00:49 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, I tell you, that was, that was scary though, cause like, um, oh, my, my, my husband had to call the EMS cause I couldn't breathe or nothing. And I was so scared. I didn't know. You know, when they tested me, they said, well, you don't got COVID, but you got pneumonia. And it had, I mean, my lung took a hit. Boy, that was scary. I was scared out of my gourd, man.

03:01:13 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 1:

It was tough. Kool-Aid lady and I were talking on Sunday. And you, it was amazing to me. Here you are. A, are you on oxygen still? Are they still putting you on oxygen? Uh-uh.

03:01:26 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 4:

No.

03:01:27 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 1:

They finally took you off of that.

03:01:29 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 4:

I didn't have to be on that that long. I didn't start improving, you know.

03:01:34 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 1:

So here she is. She's mending her, you know, just getting back from the hospital. And she is focused on Mojo in the morning. She is focused on the show and how everybody's doing and asking me how I'm doing. And Kool-Aid lady, you're unbelievable.

03:01:48 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 4:

What a sweetie. You guys rock, man. You shaming the whole crew up in there. Rock like a mad dog, man.

03:01:54 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 1:

I said to Kool-Aid lady, you cannot die on us. you've got to take care of yourself, right? Because I said to you, I thought you said goddamn right.

03:02:04 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 3:

I know, so did I. I was like, there's no way she said that.

03:02:06 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 1:

No, she's a religious woman. She would never say that. But I told her, I said, you got that right. I said to Kool-Aid lady, I said, if you don't take care of yourself, I won't be able to have you sing a happy birthday with that beautiful song that she sings.

03:02:20 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 4:

That's fun, though. You know, hey, I heard, I seen your merch, man. Y'all got some cool merch.

03:02:26 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we got to get some Kool-Aid Lady merch. We'll send you some. We got, you know, it's funny, Kool-Aid Lady. Do we have merch for Kool-Aid? Stay on the line, Kool-Aid Lady. Don't go anywhere, and then I'll get your address. We'll send you something. Kool-Aid Lady, we got to get you some new stuff. What do you like, Kool-Aid Lady? What's your favorites?

03:02:43 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 4:

I like T-shirts and, you know, I like T-shirts and hoodies and cool stuff like that, you know?

03:02:51 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Listen, we already know this. When you go to a hospital, they give you special treatment. You're a celebrity at the hospital. So you need to be wearing the colors, right? The Mojo and the Morning Show colors.

03:03:04 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you know, that's right. Shoot. And you know how I like to wear, you know, the T-shirts? They got to be hanging off of me sloppy, man. I know.

03:03:15 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 1:

I know. Well, listen, you hang on the phone. Lydia, we'll take care of you. And we love you so much. People are texting asking about Trucker Howard. We can't get him to answer. We've been trying, so I've been talking to him. Yeah, I was going to say Mike has. Oh, you are Mike? Yes. Why is he not called in?

03:03:31 - 03:03:49 | Speaker 2:

He's tried to call in, or he tries to get the energy to call in. He's been going through chemo right now. Let me pull up his messages right now. Okay. But he went to call in the other morning, and he's going through chemo, and I guess he's smoking, too, along with it, obviously, because he's going through chemo. Wait a second.

03:03:49 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 1:

He's still smoking, even though he's going through cancer chemo? Well, weed. Oh. Weed. Oh, okay.

03:03:54 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm glad he's taking priority over taking care of himself if he's going through chemo and everything. So I was afraid his personality was that I thought he might not take good care of him.

03:04:04 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I keep telling him to just call in and say hi. But I think he's just going by how he feels, you know? So the chemo is not doing good, and they're trying a new formula Friday. If they don't get to shrink it, I don't know how long I got. He said he's been in and out of the hospital, and he's going to try to call him, but he's going through it right now. Tell him I love him.

03:04:29 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 1:

We all do, and we all need to pray for Trucker Howard, too. We love that guy. That guy caught us through COVID. I mean, there were many times we were all just down and hating everything, and the guy would call up, and he'd do that whole thing.

03:04:45 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 2:

Have a damn good day.

03:04:47 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to do my good. Sounds just like that. You want to hear my Kool-Aid lady impersonation? This is weird in the booga booga. Here's my smoker, Jackie.

03:04:57 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 3:

I miss her, man.

03:04:59 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I know.

03:05:00 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 5:

Let me hear yours, Smoker Jackie.

03:05:05 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 3:

Me?

03:05:05 - 03:05:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:05:07 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 3:

That was really good. That was.

03:05:09 - 03:05:11 | Speaker 5:

It's her asthma helping.

03:05:12 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 3:

My asthma's not the greatest lately. That might be part of it.

03:05:18 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 5:

All right. So we got to keep our Misfits, our Mojo in the Morning Misfits, healthy. We cannot lose any of these Misfits.

03:05:26 - 03:05:28 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Top Trending Stories.

03:05:28 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 5:

All right. Top Trending Stories. So, and I thank Megan for this, because Megan has been on me to, like, we got to talk about what's going on in East Palestine, Ohio with that train derailment. Megan, now I'm obsessed with this thing. I mean, TikTok got us obsessed. Do you guys understand that it was TikTok that got the media to finally start covering this thing? Because it was a cover-up. I mean, I believe this was a total governmental cover-up, both nationally and locally, where nobody wanted to talk about it. because, and they still don't want to talk about it. There's been no visits. I mean, if this was a hurricane that ripped through that town.

03:06:07 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 1:

You'd be talking about it before it even happened.

03:06:08 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 5:

They would, and they would have money, too. The people would have, like, dollars to be able to help them. These families have no idea what they're going to do.

03:06:16 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Did you see what Governor DeWine said about President Biden? No.

03:06:20 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 5:

No. Yes.

03:06:20 - 03:06:31 | Speaker 3:

That President Biden reached out and said that federally we will give you anything that you need, just let us know. And he said in a press conference, and I haven't called him back.

03:06:31 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and that was a few days ago. What? Yeah. Wow. He's trying to keep it within the state. He doesn't want federal help. And a lot of people are saying that's because they don't want the EPA coming and FEMA coming and everything. And that's where all the questions are. Like, this is not something you don't just let the train company handle the cleanup themselves. That's not oversight.

03:06:51 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 3:

Because they don't want to pay out.

03:06:52 - 03:07:26 | Speaker 5:

The problem is the government needs to just come in, and they need to go in there and do something about this. Last night, they actually had a town hall, and they left chairs open for Buttigieg and the EPA director to be there for this thing. And the train company, none of them showed up. The train company didn't show up because they said that they thought that they were going to get killed. Oh, yeah. The town would come after them. And then all the national people didn't come in, too.

03:07:29 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 7:

Overnight, a town hall packed with residents demanding answers.

03:07:32 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 6:

The reality is your town is under a microscope. The EPA administrator is coming tomorrow. Yes. What is your message for him? What do you need? I need help. I have the village on my back, and I'll do whatever it takes.

03:07:45 - 03:07:54 | Speaker 7:

The mayor, state, and local officials trying to reassure skeptical residents that East Palestine is safe after a fiery train derailment and release dumped tankers of toxic

03:07:54 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 5:

chemicals. Notably absent, anyone from Norfolk Southern Railroad. When I asked Governor Mike

03:08:04 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 7:

DeWine if they should have sent someone, he said, yeah, absolutely. It's absurd. Norfolk Southern releasing this statement ahead of the meeting, writing in part after consulting with community leaders, we have become increasingly concerned about the growing physical threat to our employees. The governor also touting confidence in the safety of the city's water supply. If I was

03:08:24 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 2:

there right now, I would drink it. Yesterday, the health director said, I think I'd probably drink the bottle of water. He knew that we didn't have the test results back. Well, today, we got

03:08:34 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 7:

the test results back. Still, many evacuees aren't convinced the town is safe enough to return.

03:08:39 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 1:

My grandbabies, that's why I bought this property, so they could play in the creek and have a good time, but I ain't putting them in it this year. I don't know if I'll ever put them back in it.

03:08:47 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 4:

There was a considerable amount of runoff from the incident itself into two cricks that run through the town. I want to see what are they testing for? How are they testing it? What are they looking for? What are they finding?

03:09:02 - 03:09:28 | Speaker 8:

Did you see what broke this morning? That this train had mechanical issues in the week before the derailment. And that the workers of the train company were complaining to the company. they were concerned that the train was too big the size was too big about 150 car lengths long they said it's just too heavy so it's amazing it was a safety risk but it's amazing that we

03:09:28 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 5:

worry about pipelines but we don't worry about traveling across the country with trains carrying this uh this stuff like that scares the crap out of me that there are trains that are driving like there was a drill a derailment in belleville i have no idea what was on that train i think that happened today right yeah this morning yeah and and there's been so many uh trains that have been going off the tracks this story i saw so i met megan i dug deep and i actually started watching the local tv news like the little stations you know the little uh stations that you don't know about

03:10:00 - 03:10:07 | Speaker 1:

And I heard this woman that was being interviewed about what was going on with her animals, her chickens.

03:10:07 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 6:

I walked up to the cage and this is what I found. Amanda Brashears was going to feed her five hens and rooster this morning when she discovered them all lifeless, practically in the same position with no signs of a predator entering their enclosure. I'm beyond upset and quite panicked because they may be just chickens, but they're family. Brashear says her chickens were alive and well yesterday. She believes the smell following the detonation of the train carrying chemicals that derailed in East Palestine is to blame for her bird's sudden death.

03:10:44 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 7:

My video camera footage shows my chickens were perfectly fine before they started this burn. And as soon as they started the burn, my chickens slowed down and they died. If you can do this to chickens in one night, imagine what it's going to do to us in 20 years.

03:10:58 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 1:

You believe that? They say it's a controlled burn. That wasn't a controlled burn. That looked like a nuclear cloud.

03:11:03 - 03:11:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's a lot of criticism, too, for Governor DeWine just letting the train company come in and start that burn and not taking any advisement from the federal company. Like, they didn't know exactly what chemicals. We don't know exactly what chemicals were on board that train. We're only taking the train company's information, and that's the bigger issue about all the hazardous materials transported by train. It's all self-reported by train companies. They don't have any oversight where the government inspects or has to know when it goes across state lines what is in those trains.

03:11:37 - 03:11:42 | Speaker 2:

I hope somebody's testing those chickens. Like, I hope they're taking them in and scientifically testing those chickens.

03:11:42 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, they keep talking about, oh, the company's done over 130 tests in the area. Well, yeah, okay, the train companies, do we trust the train companies' data? Like, who else is testing?

03:11:51 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 5:

Because who's going to be responsible when they find out that they have to start paying for fixing these problems? The train company. They're not going to report everything.

03:12:00 - 03:13:20 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys see the story I sent you guys yesterday about the CDC reporting that, and we have so many younger teenage girls that listen to this radio program, that the CDC says that teen girls are facing a record level of sadness right now. And parents don't know what to do. And some of the stats that are in this thing, to me, are like staggering as to one, I think it's one in six, let me pull the exact statistic here, one in five teen girls have experienced sexual violence in the last year. That's a 20% increase from 2017. They also showed that one in six kids say that they have thought about, or I'm sorry, three in five kids say that they feel helpless and depressed, with many of them, more than 60% of them, having thought of suicide in the last year. One in four reporting that. It's crazy. And this is the CDC, by the way, that's doing these records, these reports. And it's teen girls that are the ones that they say are being faced with the hardest hit with the depression going on right now.

03:13:20 - 03:13:37 | Speaker 3:

Double the statistic of boys. And the data just shows our kids need far more support to cope and hope and thrive. I mean, we're dealing with it in our own household, as many are. It started with COVID and has gone on from there. But this high school time and beyond should not be about trauma.

03:13:37 - 03:13:43 | Speaker 4:

And I'm holding up my phone, the most dangerous weapon. we put it in their hands every single day and actually it's good that you brought that up

03:13:43 - 03:14:11 | Speaker 1:

because the next story deals with that they're saying that uh tiktok is the number is right now the number one way that uh that kids are getting exploited sexually right now yeah that that's where their sexual exploitation comes into play and a lot of these girls that have been sexually exploited or sexually assaulted many of them say that they have you know uh had issues because of

03:14:11 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 3:

social media you reported last week how the surgeon general of the u.s wants to change the law and make it a higher age requirement for these social medias but the crazy part is that how many parents we know that will just help their kids set up an account and lie about their age so Their kids can access and talk to their friends on all these that aren't even 10, 11, 12 years old.

03:14:33 - 03:14:36 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe how many friends of Lucy's have TikTok at eight, like have their own TikTok.

03:14:36 - 03:14:44 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy. They're talking about, that's been a talk, 16 years old as a minimum to be able to get on social media. I don't know how you'd police it, though. You can't.

03:14:44 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 4:

You're supposed to be 13 to get on TikTok or to post on TikTok. But when, you know, mom or dad is making an account for you and just putting whatever year in there, it doesn't matter. They could put whatever age they wanted on there. If the parents are going to do it, it doesn't matter what restrictions.

03:15:00 - 03:15:05 | Speaker 8:

to put on it you know right but that's the sad part is how many parents don't realize what it's

03:15:05 - 03:15:34 | Speaker 7:

doing to the kids and the last story that i have here for you spike this is sad news for you i know that although i i think that you like to partake in other things other than beer but for the first time ever spirits have surpassed beer in the marketplace meaning that cocktail culture has now taken over and the popularity of the drink concoctions has grown further than any type of beer.

03:15:34 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, a lot of it's the portability in the last two years of all these new beverages getting canned and bottled that were never canned and bottled before, starting with all the cider drinks and then now all the hard seltzers.

03:15:46 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 1:

My mom had a Moscow Mule in a can the other day. Yeah, everything. And margaritas in a can are so good.

03:15:51 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 7:

The two most popular liquors that are out right now, tequila and whiskey. That whiskey and tequila are the biggest as far as the trend that has knocked beer down off of its pedestal of being number one on the list.

03:16:07 - 03:16:15 | Speaker 8:

Well, good, because breweries have had a shortage and a huge increase in costs in some of the supplies. So I'll be glad to see some beer drinkers move away.

03:16:15 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 7:

You go drink what you want to drink. I'll still drink what I want to drink. All right. Have a great day. We will see you guys back tomorrow morning.
