Mojo.

00:02:08 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 4:

Five, four, three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:02:17 - 00:02:18 | Speaker 7:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:19 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

00:02:21 - 00:03:22 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hack. It's showtime! Mojo in the morning show. Kev says that yesterday he smelled and none of us said anything to him.

00:03:22 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 6:

Well, Zach is the only real one, if I'm going to say it. Zach is the only one who told me that I had a little armpit mishap, if you will. Interesting. The pits weren't functioning as well as they thought they were. Comes a week after we discussed the fact that you don't shower. Exactly. So I thought you all would be on high alert.

00:03:44 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 2:

How did he get so close to you that he could smell your armpit?

00:03:46 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 6:

He wasn't that close to me. That's the problem. So I must have really been reeking. Are we supposed to blend it out every day? I would hope, one could only hope that the people that he shares his entire life with would feel comfortable to tell him that he's stinking.

00:04:01 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 7:

I was close to you yesterday, and I got to be quite honest with you. It just means that maybe the other people stink just as bad, but I did not smell it.

00:04:10 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

Well, let me tell you a point. I told you all that I have a flexible bathing schedule. Oh, my God. Is that how we're calling it? That's how we're going to do it. Okay. It's very flexible. Remember when you were in high school and you had, like, block schedule? Yes. Yeah, I got a block schedule when it comes to showering. So my regimen isn't as everyday or as often as some would imagine. It's like binge watching. You can watch a little here or watch whatever you kind of feel the need to. And I didn't shower for a couple of days because I didn't really do much. And my alarm has been going off at random times in the morning, not when I actually set it. so my morning didn't start with enough time as I would have liked it to and I got in the shower had to get out quickly and forgot to put on deodorant

00:05:00 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 4:

And then I'm a pretty, I guess, active person when I'm in the studio. I feel like I got a little energy. And I think I just started sweating too much. And then there goes the, you always smell yourself first. For sure. So I smelled myself first. And I was like, oh, damn. It was one of those where I was like, damn, I hope nobody else smelled me. And when no one said anything, I thought I was clear. And so I went in Mr. Podcast Engineer, Audio Director Engineer Studio. He tells me I'm reeking.

00:05:27 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 5:

I thought it was a fart, to be honest with you. So it wasn't BO. It wasn't BO. It was dirty smell. It was like a whiff. No, you know what it is? It's bad butt. That's what he's got. He's got dirty. That's even worse. He has been. And he also goes, I'm farting right now. I've been farting that whole commercial break. I'm going to tell y'all.

00:05:49 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Because here's the thing, though. And Bianca can attest it. Shout out to Kaji B. When I fart, 80 to 85% of the time it has no smell. To you. No, that's not true. I farted around y'all and nobody has said anything.

00:06:02 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

No, we're just nice. That's not true. I've smelled your farts, dude.

00:06:06 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 4:

Bianca, I farted yesterday. Yeah. I farted yesterday. And it was right by Bianca, right by the door. Did it smell, Bianca? Be honest.

00:06:15 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

No, I'll be honest. Thank you. I'll come back because it was loud. It sounded like one of those wet ones. And I was like, I backed up a little bit, but it did not smell. Thank you. Which is crazy because if I did one like that, it would smell. So you're good. You're in the clear, Kevin. Thank you.

00:06:32 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 5:

So do you tell somebody, has anybody ever told somebody that they had a smell to them? There was a little bit of a stink to them?

00:06:40 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 6:

They're zesty.

00:06:41 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 5:

Zesty. Tony Travato is really big on bad breath. Like, I don't know if you notice, he chews this gum all the time. And he's so worried about his bad breath. But he has told me before that there have been members of the show that have had really bad breath. And he wouldn't even tell me who they were. I said, me? And he goes, no, it's not you. But he said, and he goes, it is so bad. It is so bad that he worries about them talking to the listeners. And I'm like, oh, my God. You've got to say something to him, right? You can't have an interaction with your clients and our listeners and you guys are, and advertisers, you guys are our clients. You guys are the people we take care of.

00:07:19 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 6:

As this topic is happening, I'm like, I had Meza garlic sauce with my dinner last night. I have brushed my teeth twice since then, and I can still taste and smell it.

00:07:28 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 5:

That's a different kind of smell, though.

00:07:30 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 6:

I know, but it's still a smell.

00:07:32 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 5:

Like the garlic out of your pores smell is a different smell than you smell like ass. You know what I mean?

00:07:40 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm so worried about this. Shannon and Kev make fun of me all the time because I sit in between them. If you open up my purse, there's Listerine strips. There's Altoids. There's gum. There's perfume. Like, I am so weird about, like, I'll ask you guys, be like, do I smell okay today? It's like my number one thing. I don't want to be the smelly kid.

00:07:58 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

You do not want to be here.

00:08:00 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 7:

Cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?

00:08:06 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? Who is this, Amanda?

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning.

00:08:10 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Amanda.

00:08:12 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 7:

Hi. So I'm glad Kev has clarified because I was texting in that, like, I thought Kev could smell himself and that he didn't need anyone else, and that's when he knows the shower, when he could smell himself. But I'm glad that he smelled it first.

00:08:27 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, thank God for Zach, though, Zach being a true friend.

00:08:31 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 4:

I feel like it's kind of one of those things where it's like the volume on the television. If I turn it down, I can probably still hear it. But if you're in the other room, can you hear it? So I can smell myself, you know, because I'm in the room.

00:08:47 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 5:

Well, sometimes your volume's up really loud, and you don't realize it, and the other people in the other room are hearing it too loud. You know what I mean? That's what I'm saying. That's like really bad. Y'all didn't tell me y'all can hear it. Yeah. By the way, this is interesting that maybe this is a thought that you should start showering a little bit more.

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't feel like it, bro. Let's be honest with you, man.

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

You're like a kid, dude.

00:09:11 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 4:

I showered this morning, and I put on the other. Put it right outside the shower, too, so I didn't miss it. I didn't miss it.

00:09:17 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Fresh Kev.

00:09:17 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Victor? Hi.

00:09:19 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, I just want to let Kev know. So the reason people usually take showers when they wake up in the morning is because you sweat when you sleep. Even though you don't think you do, you could have the AC on a full blast. You're still perspiring, bro, when you're sleeping.

00:09:35 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 5:

And that's why you should change your sheets too, right?

00:09:38 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Right, right, right. Once a week at least. Wash the sheets. Wash the you know you know every day. Well, that's an interesting thought.

00:09:46 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 5:

If you don't wash your balls or your V, you got, you got problems.

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

The thought of putting on deodorant over old deodorant. Yeah. Gross.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're caking it up. You've forgotten to put deodorant on. Well, you probably still had some from the day before if you didn't shower.

00:10:05 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

But you guys don't reapply throughout the day?

00:10:08 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 4:

Not throughout the day?

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:10:11 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

I do. I do. I keep a deodorant in my pocket? No. No, I've got to spray her for that. I don't trust that. Okay.

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

You don't trust the spray?

00:10:19 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't trust the spray or like, is it the Old Spice, the blue one where it's like a thin, it's like kind of like liquidy almost. Oh, it's like the rollerball. Yeah. I need the powder kind. Like, I need to stick on there.

00:10:31 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 3:

See, the powder kind makes me feel like I smell more, and it makes my clothes look like I got, like, random white streaks around. What's going on, Nichelle?

00:10:41 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm just disgusted with him. What? Who is him, Nichelle? If you – I'm calling your mama. Why are you not taking a shower every day? And now you out here offending folks. Offending folks.

00:11:00 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 4:

Nichelle, I'm not as active as others. I don't care. I don't care.

00:11:07 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, I love her. Nichelle, I love you. You take a shower, you take a bath, something, at least once a day. I'm not saying you got to take a bath every five minutes or every time you come in the house. You wake up, you take a shower. You go to bed. If you're doing it at night, some people don't have time in the morning. You are early bird. Take it before you go to bed. Nichelle, do you know Kev or his mama? Yes, ma'am. I wish I did. Okay.

00:11:34 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Lydia, get her number because we need her. I love you. We need her to be Kev's like.

00:11:39 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 5:

I just woke up. I'm telling you, I set my alarm to get up, and I wake up, and I wake up to this garbage.

00:11:47 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

You ever go to a friend's house in the summer, and you spend the night, and they're getting yelled at by their parents in front of you, and you have to sit there like everything's okay? I feel like that's happening right now. Exactly. And I want to call Terrell

00:12:01 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Hi, she has a sex with you

00:12:03 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 3:

I take care of some areas I don't care

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 5:

Take care of your whole body Yes ma'am

00:12:11 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you have just been put in your place I'm quiet over here I've been ready

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

00:12:21 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 2:

00:13:10 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 1:

interesting kind of interesting that she um and quite honestly it has not been confirmed but i'm

00:13:16 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 3:

pretty certain that's what it was well and you are waiting how many days to tell us well because i

00:13:22 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 1:

didn't even know if I wanted to talk about it to be fully honest like this is horribly embarrassing to talk about um so this actually happened last week uh that's how long it's and last night was the first night that I looked down and I was like oh my my abdomen finally looks better like I think they went away um so Wes and I stayed at a hotel last weekend I will not say which which one um because I actually like this place. And so that was Saturday night. And then either Monday or Tuesday morning, I think it was Monday morning. I was getting I got out of the shower and I was getting ready. And I looked down and saw these little red bumps all over the left side of my abdomen. And I called Wes into the bathroom and I said, I can't get the chicken pox twice, right? Because that's what this looks like. It looks like I'm getting the chicken pox. And he said, no but you can get singles but this doesn't really look like shingles to me and so you know this mojo i have the craziest allergies i'm allergic to everything you know also if you had shingles

00:14:28 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

because you wouldn't you wouldn't you would have it's pain pain pain that's what i've heard but i

00:14:33 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

thought okay maybe i touched something or i wore something new that is just bugging you know my skin is having a bad reaction to it i could not figure out what the heck they were there were like nine dots they weren't spreading it was only on my left side didn't itch so by wednesday i still have them again this is last week and so i sent i was even too embarrassed to say anything to dr warner because normally i will just call or text dr warner but i'm like

00:15:00 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 5:

don't even know what the heck this is sent a pic to my my friend group chat and one of my friends called me immediately and she was panicking and she said shan i know this from personal experience those are bed bug bites and this makes perfect sense because you only sleep on your left side so of course in true shannon fashion i start to panic okay and she came over and we checked my entire bed mattress mattress liner couch everything i've only stayed i mean i've only been at my house and my house was totally clear and she knows how to check for bed bugs because my girlfriend had bed bugs so we you know we we checked they leave like these little dot whatever we checked it all so the only thing that we could think of was that i got it from the hotel what about west did west have any so that's the other thing so wes did not have any but also that night at the hotel and i don't know if this makes sense or not or if this could even be the case he fell asleep in his clothes

00:16:04 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 1:

that night he was totally clothed even to his shoes so wait that was a good night that is a good night okay he fell asleep in his clothes i did not so 419 says uh shannon bed bugs do not go away they have to you have to throw out every piece of furniture it wasn't my house wasn't my house i i

00:16:27 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 5:

mean we checked everything in my house and by the way i'm i'm still crazy and i still went and you know redid everything but the only if these are even bed bugs and i have i mean i have bed bug

00:16:39 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 1:

bites i mean it's so nasty it's weird how it's just one area specific area i only sleep on my left side well i know but it's it's but it's weird it's not like the bugs can't crawl around and stuff, right? Sure.

00:16:51 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I've never had this happen to me before. Watch somebody sees a picture and they're like, that's not bedbugs.

00:16:56 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 1:

That's, you know, whatever. What would you rather have it be? I don't know.

00:17:01 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 5:

Not bedbugs. If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure she has the herb. Not that

00:17:05 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 1:

either. I think I'd rather have bedbugs. Neither? Give me bedbugs over that one. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Do we have that picture?

00:17:17 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm kind of nervous supposed picture oh you don't want to see my underwear but whatever i mean well because then

00:17:23 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 1:

then you're not going to see the yeah hey cheryl what's going on it's not that cute underwear

00:17:27 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 4:

hey yeah i used to work for the marriott hotels shannon you need to call that hotel and tell them what happened i know i thought about that yeah i know it doesn't mean that they're a dirty hotel it just means somebody else brought them into that room and if they don't catch that it's going to do nothing but spread right and they are not a dirty hotel cleanest hotel right neither were we but we did end up getting them several times but what they have to do then is close down the room both in the rooms on each side of it and the one above and the one beyond that are the one

00:17:59 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 5:

below that's how much they spread and and i got lucky too because my girlfriend was like you where is your bag that you brought with you we both came home and took a shower immediately for whatever reason not we not even knowing any of this and i was lazy and had the tote bag carrying my overnight stuff i threw it in my guest room and it's still completely packed with all my stuff yeah so i've

00:18:22 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 1:

just left it there i would get it and put it in the garage the garage what's going on lisa

00:18:27 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 3:

so i would agree that it probably was fed bug bites they can come home with you but a lot of the times they stay where they know food is going to be and they fight in increments of three they have the joke is they call it breakfast lunch and dinner um so nine and they will only target like

00:18:52 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 1:

a warm close can we get bed bugs by being by her right now

00:18:56 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 5:

You know how they tell you that you can have the phantom phone rings, the phantom vibrations. I have had phantom creepy crawlies all over my body for a week and a half now.

00:19:11 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Sarah? Yes? You don't think it's bed bugs. What do you think they are?

00:19:16 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 2:

I think she just has hives. I had the same thing. I Googled, because, like, I woke up one morning and, like, broke out thinking I had bedbugs. Searched the whole house. You know what I mean? Did the whole nine. The photos of what I had looked like bedbugs. And it looked like I had hives.

00:19:37 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Okay. What's worse, hives or?

00:19:40 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 5:

Well, I get hives all the time. But then you run away.

00:19:42 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:19:43 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 5:

I mean, these lasted truly yesterday. They're not there anymore? Truly yesterday was the first day. I mean, I don't have them anymore. Yeah, I can't see them. Yeah.

00:19:52 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:19:53 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 5:

Jim, this is exactly why I didn't want to do this topic, because now nobody's going to want to sit next to me. I've already moved over.

00:20:00 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 4:

that was your breath though mojo in the morning so had to go to my second funeral in the last month yesterday uh so had a really uh sad uh sad situation buddy jason died and and uh my condolences to his wife uh janet and jacob and then had a friend bill who who passed away and was a guy that, known for many, many years, actually used to live right by us and became kind of close friends with him, Chelsea and I did, with their family, but had a weird situation happen at the funeral yesterday. And you guys, I want to say this to you. When they tell you to silence your phones, silence your phones. I want to ask this question. Where has your phone gone off that was a complete embarrassing situation for you or maybe you got yourself into trouble. Because at the funeral, and it was a Catholic Mass, and if you've ever been to a Catholic Mass, the priest does holy water over the casket. Yeah. Like, as the casket's coming in, and everybody, like, is standing, and they bless the casket. Yeah. Standing right there, everybody, the church is fairly packed. It's a Catholic church. And the priest is doing the holy water thing and, you know, reading from the Bible. And all of a sudden... No way. I swear to you. no yeah and it took and it took almost about i don't know 40 or no maybe not 40 seconds it was probably 15 seconds to 20 seconds of the song it made me almost want to like walk it up like you know radio djs do like how did everybody channel 955 we're broadcasting live right now from holy name church but um the the person's phone went off right at that moment and the funny thing is everybody looks and they look at you and they give you the death stare no pun intended you're at a funeral i mean pun intended but pun intended they give you that stare and they're looking at you like you are an evil person how did you do this thing and the family actually kind of smiled

00:22:08 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 1:

they thought it was actually kind of in they were very sad some likeness to this yeah situation but

00:22:14 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 4:

i've seen this happen to me uh or not to me but to people uh with me and it has happened to me with not just ringtones. I've seen it happen where you're going through and scrolling on Instagram. This happened to me in one of our meetings recently and I'm getting bored and I go on Instagram, I start scrolling and I have the volume off, you know, muted. And all of a sudden you happen on one of the Instagrams that has like music attached to it. And next thing you know, a million dollar baby is popping up.

00:22:43 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 1:

And you're busted for that. And totally.

00:22:46 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What was the moment that the phone or ringtone or whatever it was went off?

00:22:57 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 3:

This always happens to my mom when we go to the movies. And it's like, it's one of those things where. Wait. You're the guy that tells people to turn the phone off. My mom, I won't say she's a liar, but she'll always be like, yes, I did it. I turned it off. I'm like, Mom, it got to a point now where I take her phone and I've literally turned her entire phone off. I'm like, we have to watch this movie because if it goes off, I'm going to be pissed. It's happened to her in church, during prayer. We were like, dog, turn the phone off.

00:23:24 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 4:

If Anthony's listening, Anthony LaVerte from Imagine, this is a phenomenal video that you could have Kev and his mom taped where Kev, his mom, and Josiah are sitting in the theater and all of a sudden mom's ringtone goes off And Paul Glantz has to come over and kick Kev's mom out.

00:23:44 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 1:

Anthony, you got to do it.

00:23:46 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, it would be so damn funny. His mom would be hysterical out there doing that.

00:23:51 - 00:23:51 | Speaker 3:

Pissed.

00:23:51 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 4:

What's her ringtone?

00:23:53 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 3:

It's just the random, and she has an Android too. So it starts up like you're starting a computer from 1955. It's like UFOs. It's the worst thing you could possibly imagine.

00:24:04 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it funny you can tell whose phone is going off by the ringtone? I love my dad more than anything, and I know he's listening right now, but he has the iPhone quacks. It's like, quack, quack, and I'm like, oh. Oh, my God, no, those are so annoying.

00:24:18 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 1:

Scott Mick, I thought you were cooler than that.

00:24:23 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning, what's going on? Lisa, hi.

00:24:27 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:24:28 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 4:

What's happening? Yeah, we're talking about the embarrassing ringtone going off.

00:24:32 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yes. So when my dad passed away in 2016, full out, Catholic start to finish, drag it out, funeral. We're at the cemetery inside the little building. And all the pallbearers are facing us. They're sitting there, including my husband and my son and my brother-in-law. And hell's bell goes off on one of the people's phones. Oh, this? Ben Wallace.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Remember when we... Yeah.

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 9:

Like an undertaker.

00:25:01 - 00:25:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:25:02 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 9:

At a funeral. ACDC, Hell's Bells. Yeah, so we still laugh about it. We thought my dad, I'm sure, was laughing and not rolling around. He would think that was funny.

00:25:12 - 00:25:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:25:13 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 9:

But it lightened the mood of the crying for several days.

00:25:16 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 3:

The beauty of it is at the beginning they think it's the church bells, you know?

00:25:20 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 9:

Right, right. Oh, that's awesome. We all just, I stared, you know, me staring at my house. We're all like, you know, especially people that know ACDC, I mean, immediately. Yeah. Oh, you know. Yeah. So we can laugh about it now.

00:25:33 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 3:

So funny. Thank you for the call. Initial F doesn't want to be called out for this, but they did get called out for it happening. What's going on, F? Your voice, guys.

00:25:43 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the most embarrassing moment of my life. I was doing CPR around Halloween time. I'm a paramedic, and the theme song to Jason Movies came out.

00:25:53 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Whose phone was it?

00:25:58 - 00:25:59 | Unknown:

It was mine.

00:25:59 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 3:

It was yours.

00:26:00 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Why is that your ringtone? Doing what you do. Why? It was Halloween. Oh, okay. All right. Fair.

00:26:09 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 3:

You want to be voices, guys. Are you embarrassed because it doesn't look good for the firefighter or paramedic doing CPR?

00:26:18 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 1:

I mean, we've all done it before. It's not the first time that it's happened. I mean, people have played another one bites the dust.

00:26:24 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Y'all out of control.

00:26:26 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

That should not be your ringtone.

00:26:27 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 3:

That's horrible. You are an EMT. What's up, Anthony? How you doing?

00:26:32 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 5:

So I actually had three all at the same time at a wedding. Number one was the best man. His was the Star Wars theme song. He hung up about five seconds later. The grooms goes off. His was Indiana Jones. and as soon as the groups went off I knew exactly what it was so I shut my phone off because I knew I was next I was next and it's our other friend the dumb one he's calling to say I'm lost I don't know where

00:27:16 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 3:

no oh I'd be so mad what would your ringtone have been

00:27:22 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 5:

probably

00:27:26 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 3:

I know the bride was pissed. Yeah. She's like, you're a dumbass friend. Amy, it wasn't a ringtone that went off, but what happened?

00:27:39 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 8:

So mine's not a ringtone, but I wear an insulin pump, and it never fails. There's a couple alarms that you cannot turn off, obviously for medical reasons. And I can be at a wedding. I've been in a conference. My very first day on the job, a brand-new job, Every time my boss walked in my office, my pump's going beep, beep, beep.

00:28:01 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. So at a funeral, this went off?

00:28:04 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah, at my aunt's funeral. Yeah, they're like, turn your things off. And my fiance's like, make sure you turn your pump off. I'm like, I can't turn off the load. Yeah, you can't do that.

00:28:14 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't work like that. Mary Rose, is your name Mary Rose Marie or Mary Rose?

00:28:21 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 9:

Mary Rose.

00:28:22 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Mary Rose is on with us right now. This would be something that would happen to Shannon. I saw this right away. What went off?

00:28:30 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 7:

So my birth control alarm went off during an important work meeting. And at the time, the ringer for it was the song, Knock If You Buck. Knock If You Buck. Yeah.

00:28:43 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 2:

And it was, like, dead silent except for the person I was talking, and then that went off.

00:28:47 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

00:28:48 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 2:

Mine used to go off during meetings all, or we'd be, like, taping something for the show. And how do you remember that?

00:28:54 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 3:

Because I know it's noon. I'm like, all right, it's 12 o'clock, guys. Shannon's got to take her birth control. What's up, Tracy? Hey. What's happening, Tracy? We're talking about the ringtone going off at the funeral I went to.

00:29:08 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so I was just at my friend's mom's funeral last week. And one of the sisters or aunts was up there talking just about her mom. and some older lady's rooster ringer just started blaring off.

00:29:27 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:29:27 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand how people have that. I would be so irritated.

00:29:31 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 3:

I could see Scott Mick. If Scott Mick's got the phone going on sound, I could see a rooster now.

00:29:37 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 8:

It's funny. He's listening, and he asked me to pass along a message to Shannon, and it was, tell Ms. Murphy I'm disappointed she didn't have my back. I thought better of her.

00:29:48 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 3:

Ed, what happened at the funeral?

00:29:53 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 5:

Basically, my dad was, my uncle passed away, and we're at his funeral.

00:30:00 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 4:

My dad's in car clubs, and my uncle was in the service and everything. They did the 21-gun salute, and they were folding the flag, and it was absolute quiet as all get-out. And my dad's phone rings and goes, oh, God!

00:30:17 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Did the military men and women, did they make any kind of a look over at them or no?

00:30:24 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 4:

No, they stood tall, and they did it right, but it was just absolutely embarrassing. And I even told my dad before we got out of the cars and stuff, leave your phone in the car. I did, and then it went off.

00:30:38 - 00:30:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, and I'm not wishing death on your dad, but when your dad does die, everybody should have the Ooga go off, you know, instead of the 21-gun salute. Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Megan, you almost accidentally donated something to Goodwill?

00:30:53 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I had two boxes that I was dropping off at Goodwill. and I'm very grateful for my brother because I keep a lot of my stuff at his house. So like I have a blow dryer just at my brother's house. I don't have to pack a lot of things. I can just like get up and go. But the one thing I take back and forth with me is my curling iron. And it is, I'm not gonna lie, a very expensive curling iron. I feel like the one thing I spend money on is hot tools every once in a while. They last like 10 years and they're kind of expensive. But they're a couple hundred bucks. Yeah, they're kind of expensive. And I misplaced my curling iron and I have been so angry. I went to my dad's apartment. I dug through the whole place. I'm like, maybe I left it there. I went to my brother's house, dug through the whole place. I went through their cars. I could not find it anywhere. So yesterday, I'm at Goodwill and I'm donating these boxes. And as I'm handing a box over to the guy, again, it's like, what, negative 10 degrees yesterday. As I'm handing this box over, I go, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, because I see this black cord hanging out of this box. And I know that is my expensive chromic iron. So he puts the box down, and I'm digging through this. I'm throwing clothes, purses, you know, toys everywhere. And I reach down in the bottom of the box. I have no idea how I got there. It is my curling iron. But I feel, I felt so guilty handing this box off of donations and then going, hold on, not everything. You don't get this. Yeah, you don't get this. And I was just so grateful that I had caught it, but wondering, what did people donate? maybe that they didn't catch or did you ever feel guilty saying oh wait not that or have you ever

00:32:25 - 00:32:45 | Speaker 1:

had to pay to get it back like what do they what happens if you would have donated that and you would have put that in the box and then you had to come back a day later they probably wouldn't believe you would they no megan have you been donating all your old clothes because i've been donating a bunch of old clothes and i'm telling you i know i've left five ten dollars in a pocket

00:32:45 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 2:

or two so i was really grateful my brother and i went through all of the clothes and he was on pocket search and i was on pile duties of the keeping to get rid of and then smart he went

00:32:55 - 00:33:52 | Speaker 1:

through all the to get rid of stuff can i tell you a story you guys yeah so i donate to the salvation army uh and the one by my house i always donate and there's a guy that fields it in the back of the place like you they're standing up there on the the dock or whatever and i put the bags up on top for the guy the guy is about what my size was he's a bigger dude okay and so I would say to him hey man I said hey I got a couple of things inside there that honestly I maybe wore a couple of times and and they would fit you you should get them and take them so the guy's like really what do you got and he would take them out of the thing and I would give him him he got fired Shut up. Oh, are you kidding me? The last time I went over to the Salvation Army, I said, hey, where's the guy? They said, oh, he's been taking things. I go, taking what things? We caught him on video taking items of her donation. Wait, I told him he could take things out of my bag. I just want them used.

00:33:52 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 3:

And also fair game to me if you're volunteering your services. Seriously.

00:33:57 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 1:

My goal is I want somebody to use them. I don't care if they make a dime or two off of the thing.

00:34:03 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 3:

They donate to the same place all the time. And if they were taking stuff before they took it, like, I don't know. Right? And I know it's all volunteers that work at this particular place. So to me, I'm like, I accidentally donate your hat. Accidentally. Yeah, okay. You know it was accidental because then I went and bought one. I wanted it back. But, yeah, I mean, that does happen.

00:34:23 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 1:

Accident my ass. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. You are in hell. Tax 95500. True. I want to know a 586. Listen to this one, 586. Megan, I donated three things in the last year. All of them accidentally donated, could never get them back because they didn't know where they were. I wonder, do they keep all the items at the same place, like the place that you donate, Megan? Do they sell it right there, or what do they do with it usually? I'm not sure.

00:34:51 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I feel like they also probably get rid of a bunch of stuff. Like, I bet a lot of stuff that's donated should just be trash.

00:34:59 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:34:59 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 3:

You know what? people just want to get rid of it what happened to you joanne's mojo in the morning show thanks

00:35:05 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 5:

for calling hi mojo hey so i donated a purse that had photos in it from glamour magazine i was in glamour magazine in 1984 and i wanted to make copies i wanted to make copies for my husband because i won like a great face contest and he wanted pictures of it so i he wanted a big picture of it so i was gonna go and have it made forgot they were in my purse donated the purse and couldn't get them back they were the only copies i had of the oh no i wonder if you can

00:35:40 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 3:

archive look up the that magazine because that's a long time ago right it was like just before they started doing that i guess oh wow well that's horrible at least it wasn't what john had john And what did you accidentally donate, John?

00:35:57 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 4:

It was a food drive for school, and they say get canned goods. So my mom said, go cover, get whatever you want. Got the canned peas and some other stuff. Well, the peas were actually container-holding jewelry. So it was like a diamond bracelet and necklace. And someone had a great holiday, I guess. And they didn't figure it out until it was gone. Never thought to look.

00:36:20 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 3:

How much money are we talking about in jewelry was donated by accident?

00:36:26 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I was a kid, but my parents weren't very happy, and they still talk about it today. But it was still a diamond bracelet. I know they always talk about the diamond bracelet, so it's still a diamond bracelet.

00:36:35 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 3:

What a story. I think I would honestly at that point be so disappointed I wanted my beans. I was like, why am I opening up some guy's jewelry here or some woman's jewelry? Kelly, same situation. Megan, thank God it was just a curling iron. What happened to you, Kelly?

00:36:52 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 6:

I donated my wedding ring and my husband's wedding ring. I hid it in my robe pocket because I was going out of town. And then a couple, like, I don't know, weeks later, I donated the robe and didn't realize it for about a month. I went to every place trying to find it again, but never did find it.

00:37:15 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. You put it in a robe. Were you guys fighting with each other, and that's why you had it in the room?

00:37:19 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 6:

No, we were divorced, and I had moved into a new home, and I wasn't familiar with the area, and I was going out of town. So I thought, well, I'm just going to stick it in this robe pocket. And then next thing you know, I went looking for the ring, and I realized that I had stuck it in this robe pocket and donated it.

00:37:40 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 3:

So it's like a homemade safe. That's interesting. So you put your valuables in pockets of clothes. That's interesting.

00:37:47 - 00:37:49 | Speaker 6:

Well, I've learned my lesson.

00:37:50 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

00:37:52 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 6:

Don't do that anymore.

00:37:53 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Take care of yourself.

00:37:58 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 6:

Thanks.

00:37:59 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 3:

God, it's amazing how many people, money, same situation. 313 says, I had $10,000 in cash that I put in an old suit pocket that ended up getting donated.

00:38:11 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 2:

How do you have that much cash, period?

00:38:13 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 3:

it. Well, a lot of times people were just keeping or keep the cash at the home instead of putting it in the bank because they maybe work with cash. That's a

00:38:21 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 5:

lot of money to not know its location

00:38:23 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 3:

of. Well, no, you put it like just that last caller. That's your safe. That's your homemade safe that you put it in. Now I'm going to start going through the pockets of people's pants at the Salvation Army. Now that they're looking for a guy at the Salvation Army that I go for. Can you believe they fired that guy? That's terrible.

00:38:43 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 2:

Explain that again. That is terrible.

00:38:46 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 3:

The guy, I was giving him my clothes. I was telling him to take them, and they said that the guy, they fired him because he was taking clothes. They were out of the Salvation Army. Give him the clothes. They were donated.

00:38:54 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

They probably didn't believe him, though. Well, who cares? I'm going to say, if you see a guy at work taking clothes, that looks like stealing. If you ask him what happened, and he says, oh, the guy told me I could take him, they probably didn't believe him. They probably thought he was stealing.

00:39:08 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

I feel bad, and I should probably go in there and say something. I said something to the guy that I pulled up. home that's the purpose yeah uh exactly just as long as they're getting used can't just take them

00:39:17 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 1:

though wkqi detroit wsnx muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo this is mojo in the morning oh mojo

00:39:26 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 3:

he's he's amazing live all right it is mojo in the morning phone number is 844 mojo live 844 4-6-6-5-6-5-4-8 is our telephone number. The text is 9-5-5-0-0 to get through to us. I saw this and I thought that this was actually kind of interesting. And you'll have to tell me if you find this to be truthful in your relationship. Do you ever consider how... When you have sex with somebody, your partner, your spouse, how many times your sex is actual long sex or short sex? And what I mean by that is, how many times do you guys have a sexual encounter that turns out to be a longer period of time? where there's a lot of foreplay and there's a lot to it, maybe even post-play too? And how many times is it just a quickie? And also, have you ever considered to yourself, what is the time limit on a quickie? How quick is a quickie? I would like to get into a little bit of a discussion on this one because I do have a question to ask. I want to know the time limit because it seems like sex with me is always a quickie. You know what I mean? I'm not going to be the guy that's going to brag and sit there and say, yes, having sex with me is wonderful and you're going to have a long time. Me love me long time. Not long time. Not long time. So how quick would you say a quickie is? And also, how long do you think that the average sexual escapade is in your...

00:41:18 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Do you have facts on this or you're asking for opinion?

00:41:21 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm asking for opinion because I'll be quite honest with you. I don't know. To me, I used to always think that when people were having sex, they were having it way longer than me. And then I'll have conversations with guy friends of mine. And the guy friends of mine that will talk to me about it, they'll be like, yeah, we have sex. It's like five minutes from start to finish. And I go, from start to finish, what starts it? And they're like, taking my pants off. You know what I mean? Like, it's not like it's a long occasion, you know?

00:41:54 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 1:

So, to me, a quickie would be no foreplay under five minutes. Quickie. Like, you are in a circumstance where either, like, children are going to come in or you don't have that much time or whatever. And that would be a quickie to me.

00:42:09 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 2:

Are we finishing or is it just the act?

00:42:12 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 1:

No. Quickie is, it's all-inclusive.

00:42:14 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 2:

All-inclusive. Okay, for sure. Yeah, I'll say, I'll say, I'll give you about that. Give you about a good five, six.

00:42:20 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 3:

what would you say mojo i would for a quickie i think a quickie is less than five minutes yeah it's like you know that that's a quickie yeah i think i think that uh when first off when i hear people say this to me that they they have sex and they'll say yeah we were we were having sex for

00:42:41 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 1:

hours i'm like you were stopping in between right like or you had sex multiple times yeah you had

00:42:47 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 3:

sex multiple times there's no that's not one session no there's no way they and if you are somebody that sits there and goes oh man i i you know i go all night long i'm like well you're not

00:42:58 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 1:

you're you're also a liar too and you're also not a girl because you get sore well there's i mean

00:43:04 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 3:

there's first off there's is there a woman that wants to have sex for hours honestly i mean i

00:43:10 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

would i would not want to have sex for hours if it happened a couple of times over like a period like a night yes but i don't want to be in the act for hours that does not sound nice to me but

00:43:23 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 2:

when you factor in though that foreplay element where you know there's more touching going on it's a more sensual experience that can take a longer time that can lead up to that physical cool experience so to speak i'm not a huge person you're not like you never had a little ice on your

00:43:43 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 1:

i didn't say i don't like like i don't do it i that is and i i say that on behalf of both of us

00:43:50 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 3:

we're just trying to get straight to it not yeah yeah why shannon uh when you say you don't like

00:43:58 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

foreplay i didn't say i didn't like well i guess i did but it's do you consider foreplay like to

00:44:03 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 3:

me foreplay is also just us in bed talking to each other like it's not just us you know see i don't consider that foreplay really i consider i consider for i consider foreplay is getting a little early cuddle like you know in in you know you know kind of like uh heavy petting i mean i don't like

00:44:23 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 1:

good foreplay to me is like texting or talking to each other throughout the day like if it's a nighttime thing that is leading up to it and kind of like gets you in the mood but once we're like there i'm not a fan of all of the like touching and caressing and to because immediately i am really super horny and i just want to do it yeah so y'all not kissing either then i mean we are but like as it's happening are we throwing like i don't know this is hard to talk about we're like

00:44:53 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 2:

dancing around what we can say and what we can't say can we say the o word like not um not you can Just say it like that. What type of sex that you can have? Reaching orgasm? No, no, no. Is that what you're talking about? The other O word. That's like a four-letter word. Oh.

00:45:08 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

What is the O word? I'm trying to...

00:45:10 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 2:

All right, so you're not having actual that kind of sex. You're having the other sex.

00:45:17 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 7:

But that means part of it.

00:45:18 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 2:

Does that count as foreplay for y'all, or is that factored into the number?

00:45:23 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 7:

That's factored into the number for me.

00:45:25 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:45:26 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 7:

That's not considered foreplay to me. That's like part of it.

00:45:30 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, that's actual intercourse.

00:45:32 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 2:

See, I feel like that's foreplay.

00:45:35 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 1:

That ain't real safe. Hector, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How long is a quickie? How quick is a quickie?

00:45:41 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 5:

A quickie would be like three minutes.

00:45:44 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so three minutes is a quickie. If you say to your, what is it, wife or girlfriend?

00:45:52 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 5:

Wife.

00:45:53 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if you say to her, hey, let's just have a quickie, like we got time for a quickie. Three minutes is all you pencil into your calendar.

00:46:01 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, that's all there is anymore. You know, after 20 years, you know, it depends on the relationship status, though. You know, in the first five years, you've got a winner. So that's where it's the marathon. But after that, it's sprint. You know, whoever gets to the finish line first.

00:46:22 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

The marathon only happens when you get whiskey, D. That's usually the only time that you get it. uh or you have or you take the little blue pill or somebody needs to let me know hey that chewable one that they keep advertising on the uh the tv has anybody ever tried one of those ones have you seen that at all being advertised we are not getting the same ads i saw i saw it being advertised in good morning america no way really literally just a couple of minutes ago they had the it's like a little red chewable or something like that red uh what's going on let's go to haley haley uh hector says two or three minutes is a quickie how long is a quickie for you guys

00:47:00 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 4:

so my my spouse's quickies are usually probably six to eight minutes um but usually we do it pretty long our longest being three hours due to the fact that um he took an edible and i don't know if it he just said it felt so good it made him laugh longer but then we've also had sex for over an hour with him not being on an edible so i think we're just really into each other nightmare and uh it's not a nightmare how old is he it's very uh euphoric how old is he if he's having sex for an hour uh my boyfriend is 31 i'm 29 i'll be 30 in august they say that

00:47:44 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 1:

guys that any guy that's in his 20s or or 30s usually is not a guy that's going to last longer They say as you get older, you last longer, but also comes the bad parts of that, and that is that you have a hard time getting going, too. So it's kind of like the engine will last, but the engine takes a while to start up. Really? Okay, so you got, what nationality is he? Because he must be Latin. Is he Latin?

00:48:11 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 4:

No, he's Italian. I'm Italian.

00:48:14 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 1:

He's an Italian stallion, isn't he?

00:48:16 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 4:

We're both 50% Italian.

00:48:17 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 1:

Good for you, man. Gotta love those Italians. He's awesome. I used to ask an Italian friend of mine, I said, hey, what's that little necklace thing there? You know, the Italian horn? Oh, the horn, yeah. The guy goes, that's the shape of my penis. Oh, my God. Like, really? Oh, yeah? Yeah. What's going on? Marvin. Hi, Marvin. How you doing?

00:48:38 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, guys?

00:48:39 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

00:48:40 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, this Uber Marvin.

00:48:43 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 6:

Yes, yes, yes. Lift. Lift Marvin. Lift Marvin. My bad. My bad. what's going on i was gonna say um uh i say five ten minutes to do a quickie but when y'all was talking about that hour and two hours so that's that p diddy stuff

00:49:00 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 1:

yeah don't don't ever trust anybody that's doing it for two hours you know that they're doing some

00:49:14 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 6:

crazy stuff no no no no no i think you'd be out of your mind by the end yeah you passed out at

00:49:21 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 1:

that point you should call the police um hey thanks marvin nice to talk to you again buddy we have pastor brian on the phone that wants to comment on this pastor brian yep what's up

00:49:33 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 3:

yeah i've been uh i've been cursed with stamina uh the quickest we've ever gone is 20 minutes

00:49:41 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's your quickie?

00:49:44 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we average about 45, and we do the two-for-one special where she gets two, I get one. Pastor Brian.

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. Let me tell you this. Pastor Brian, if your sermon, if your homily lasts as long as your sex does, I ain't coming.

00:50:00 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

into your church i'm i i'm i'm gonna probably think that it's gonna be too long of a service no those usually only go about as long as the quickies really that's unreal oh my god pastor brian what what nationality are you that you're lasting that long i'm a 37 year old irish white guy holy cow lucky guy huh the luck of the irish over there that's crazy would you would any of Do you think the women in our radio studios here want to be with a guy that his minimum is 20 minutes, his normal is 45?

00:50:34 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:50:35 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 3:

I would think if y'all getting pleased, then y'all in it.

00:50:38 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 2:

No. It's painful.

00:50:41 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 4:

All right. All pleasure, no pain. You still only taking the 20 bar? It depends.

00:50:47 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

Come on now.

00:50:48 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 4:

If you laying there getting your Christmas tree lit up, you ain't about to just say.

00:50:52 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

It depends. All right.

00:50:54 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 3:

Leslie wants to give us a word that we should add to our vocabulary. What is that, Leslie? Hi. Leslie. The delay is crazy.

00:51:03 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 2:

Listen to your phone, Leslie.

00:51:06 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 3:

Leslie, hello. Leslie!

00:51:10 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, this is aggravating me to the max. Leslie, are you there? Put her back on the phone.

00:51:17 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

Put her back on hold so that Lydia can yell.

00:51:19 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, I really want to. Is there a way to listen in to Lydia's studio?

00:51:22 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 3:

I don't even want to think of Lydia having sex, but could you imagine her yelling at her guy like this?

00:51:29 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 1:

Four minutes and 50 seconds. Come on. I got a breath. No, I just hung up on her. That's it. Oh, Lydia. That happens to me. It's wraps.

00:51:37 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 3:

That right there would, all of a sudden, I think we all went limp at that moment.

00:51:42 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 2:

Who let the dogs out? Who let the dogs out?

00:51:49 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. And, Cav, the dog bit you?

00:51:56 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 4:

The dog did, in fact, snap at me and bite a piece of my hand.

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez.

00:52:03 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 4:

I did not know that there was proper dog etiquette. And if there is, then please call in and let us know. Megan, you're a dog owner. Shannon, you got a few. I mean, damn near everybody on this show got dogs except for me. So my cousin, I've talked about Gerard and Chrissy, they have an amazing dog. and I'm very familiar with that dog. I go over there, the dog knows my scent, we're very cool. This isn't the dog in question. I wanted to kind of preface it by saying that I'm cool with dogs, and dogs are cool with me.

00:52:34 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so you're trying to use that as a way of saying you get along with people.

00:52:37 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 4:

I get along with people, I get along with dogs. So they have some, I've never met these people before, but they got some friends that came over, and that person had a dog. So when I go in, I'm going to do, say, hey, how you guys doing? Like, you know, they're walking in the house, like, what's going on? I see that she has a dog with her And the dog is like on the ground or whatever like that Not on a leash or anything Cause I mean I guess they just brought him down Put him on the floor and like letting him walk Comes in I go down to like pet the dog Like I go hi Put my hand on the top of the dog's head And then immediately it's like And I'm like oh what's going on I'm sorry Am I that problem In this instance Do you have to ask permission Cause I don't feel like in my life I've ever, whenever I've petted somebody, I've never asked anybody, like, is your dog

00:53:24 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 2:

a biter or can I, you know? I think you should. I think you should always ask permission. And you're not supposed to pet a dog on the top of it. Why not? I feel like that's where you rub dogs all the time. You're just not. You're supposed to pet them, like, on the side or behind the ear. I don't know. Is this knowledge? But I do think you should ask for permission, and I say that because my little Charlie, my old guy, who's going to be 15 this year, he's a really grouchy dog, and so if somebody doesn't ask me, I have to warn kids that come up like he does not really like kids because my kids kind of terrorized him when they were little and so he might nip at them so i like when people ask it and then i can give the warning

00:54:00 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 4:

and you know i have never known that you cannot touch a dog on their head i've never i've mojo when i've come over to your house i've touched your dogs on her head and then you go and then And you go, what are you doing? I'm petting your hand. You like that? That's a weirdo.

00:54:20 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 2:

No, he's making a great point.

00:54:22 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 3:

No, he's not. He asked. No, he's not. He's not making a great point. Zach just walked in. I like that guy. Zach just walked in and started petting Kev. This is not the same thing. Yeah, weird at all. But maybe to the dog it is.

00:54:33 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 4:

This is not the same thing.

00:54:34 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

Maybe to the dog it is. Maybe it's like, hey, why is this guy touching me?

00:54:38 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 4:

When I've come over to your home, you rub your dogs in the head and they like it when you go under the chin.

00:54:43 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 3:

You do like the little chin tickle thing.

00:54:45 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, under the chin good, like right here on the side.

00:54:47 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 3:

My dogs wanted to go home with you because I don't give them that much attention.

00:54:50 - 00:54:51 | Speaker 4:

They was all over me.

00:54:52 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

I think that there are certain times where Louis will snap. If you touch a certain part of his body, like if...

00:55:00 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 6:

Like, he's got a thing on his back that hurts him. So we have to, like, tell people, hey, watch the, you know, just because, you know, he will never bite you, but he growls at you.

00:55:08 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 4:

He, like, knits. Yeah, like, Charlie doesn't bite, but he, like, looks like he's going to.

00:55:13 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 6:

This dog actually got you, huh? Like, it was like, I want him quick, like, little, like, get the hell off me. What kind of dog is it? I don't know. Just a little dog?

00:55:21 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 7:

I ain't asking, yeah, like a little dog.

00:55:22 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 6:

What does Gerard say about his friend's dog biting you?

00:55:25 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 7:

I mean, they was kind of laughing. They thought it was a little funny. They, like, don't mess with the dog. They like to say, like, dogs are similar to, like, babies. Like, they can read and feel your energy. They start making jokes like that. I do believe that, by the way.

00:55:40 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 6:

Madeline, what's going on?

00:55:42 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I've been on hold for a minute, but I wanted to say Kev's impromptu drop during Shannon's weather report was amazing.

00:55:52 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 6:

Oh, the traffic bed. That's Megan and Kevin. Yeah.

00:55:55 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm high as hell, and I was cracking up.

00:55:58 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you like that?

00:56:00 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 3:

It was so good. It was so good.

00:56:02 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 6:

Quick question for you, though, on this. Do you have an animal? Do you have a dog?

00:56:07 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 3:

I have a cat, actually. Do cats do this? Cats are being touched on their bellies.

00:56:10 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 6:

So if you touch a cat, it will bite you, huh?

00:56:13 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. Oh, well, especially on the belly.

00:56:16 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Shannon, or Savannah. Savannah, what's up? Do you want to say something?

00:56:21 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Whenever you approach a dog, you're supposed to let them smell your hands first before you even touch them.

00:56:29 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so they can get your scent a little bit, huh?

00:56:32 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so they kind of like, you kind of know their demeanor by when they smell your hand, if they're like, if they kind of like, okay, you can pet them. But if they like back off, you're not supposed to touch them.

00:56:44 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 6:

If somebody, if a dog bites you and you're the one that went up to them to go pet them, are they legally responsible? This might be one of those ones where we ask, you know, That is an interesting question. I wonder, hold on. I want to know Jemana. She's the only one I trust. You guys do that, but she doesn't advertise.

00:57:06 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 4:

I want to say thank you to her for something, though.

00:57:10 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 7:

What about Femininia? That's car. I'm just thinking of people advertising. My list is short now. Burstings.

00:57:20 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 6:

Do you have the Burstings? Do you have his number? Dial him up. Will he answer your phone call?

00:57:27 - 00:57:29 | Speaker 7:

So a dog has to smell me?

00:57:29 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 6:

I want to know that.

00:57:31 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 7:

Smell my hand?

00:57:32 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 6:

Could Kevin sue? Colton, what's going on?

00:57:36 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, guys? Morning.

00:57:38 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 6:

Morning. What's going on?

00:57:40 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 4:

First time caller?

00:57:42 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 6:

Hold on.

00:57:43 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 5:

No, this is not a third time caller. Bite him. Bite him. My dog just passed away. We just had to put my dog down. Oh, my gosh. I'm so sorry.

00:57:55 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry.

00:57:55 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 5:

he was uh like lassie a rough collie you know loved him oh buddy yeah you're supposed to extend your hand and let them sniff you at first just for a second or two you know before you just go right in for the pet that way they can just get to know you and then once they're okay with these then you pet them and always ask before you pet that's just my advice dogs are no different

00:58:20 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 6:

than dates you should never just go right in let them smell you yes what if your hands got to warm up the oven yeah that's right what if i just got there wiping my ass like

00:58:31 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 1:

what's what's going on jason how you doing hey guys how's it going um i'm called a long

00:58:38 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 6:

time listening as well oh fantastic jason's on the telly jason's on the telly where are

00:58:44 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 1:

from jason i'm originally south africa wow okay i like it yeah a little further afield than normal yeah i just wanted to give a heads up on the uh on the dog first of all generally when you walk into a room especially on the first time but don't forget when you walk into enclosed space it's worse for that dog because it's either fight or flight in most cases and then second all you should always definitely don't pat him behind the head especially until you have some kind of established relationship or dominance over him otherwise that's it's concerned for him because he can't see behind him so that's why shannon was right and what you want to do is if you go in never close and face but you actually want to go down on your haunches or sort of down your knees and get to his level as you're tiring over him so that's a perceived threat to him because he doesn't know you who he is but most importantly it's the people around it's the energy and the nervousness and the more people are chattering and talking dogs don't understand that they just see that as commotion and craziness so that's why they they get

00:59:44 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 6:

nervous in that sort of environment wow that is uh that isn't you know a lot about dogs you're early you are yeah yeah you love dogs but um yeah it's just

00:59:55 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 1:

like sometimes people forget you know dogs will give them all the love in the world but

01:00:00 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 2:

they don't understand gray they understand black or white they just one or the other you know so you have that you they get confused otherwise and that's when they get temperamental can you just say my name again what's that shannon oh you single no but really are you single We love a listener with an accent

01:00:25 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 5:

Unless you ask her

01:00:28 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 4:

I nibble baby

01:00:29 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 5:

Nibbling's okay

01:00:31 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 1:

Ah this weather is great Ever wonder why we're dumb enough to live here this time of year This is Mojo in the Morning

01:00:38 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay Mojo in the Morning show There is something that Wes completely dumbfounded Shannon with that every guy will understand where Wes is coming from.

01:00:51 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 2:

That makes me feel better that you say that because that was my question to you guys this morning is, is this true? Is this a thing? So my, my bathroom is like in my bedroom. So if Wes is like, we don't, we don't leave the door open if we're like pooping, but if we're peeing, but it's fair game and so he had the door open I was getting into bed and he was peeing and I heard him I swear I heard him go yes and I was like who are you talking to and he said he was excited because he had a strong stream and I was like that I don't understand and he's like if you have a strong like pee stream that's like a really really good thing and he's like he's like guys like this is a thing with guys i'm like i had no idea i don't know that i pat myself on the back

01:01:47 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 5:

if i have a strong pee and then taking a step further it's competitive okay he said that too

01:01:53 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 2:

he goes he's like guys talk about this and if you're with another guy and you're peeing and a stream is stronger than that that is very much a competition i'll push harder

01:02:02 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay, what? No, no, no, you got to be careful, though. That's not good. Two things. Not only does the stream have to be strong, but I have to pee for longer than you also.

01:02:10 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yeah. Really? Yeah.

01:02:12 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 5:

So in those moments, I'll kind of take my foot off the gas a little bit and hold it back.

01:02:16 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 2:

That reason he's like, you don't want low pressure if there are other guys around.

01:02:19 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 5:

And for sure, you got to make sure you're coming out like Hulk.

01:02:22 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, we all know. I thought he was lying. No, we all know how we judge a good shower based on water pressure, right?

01:02:30 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:02:30 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 3:

That's what it is for a guy. You judge basically everything based on, and there's nothing worse that when you go to a urinal, especially in a men's room that has a bunch of them, like a Ford Field or Little Caesars Arena, and you go, and you got stage fright. And then you got a soft stream.

01:02:47 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 5:

You got a little spitter.

01:02:48 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 3:

Because every guy behind you that's been standing in that long line is going, look at that guy with the soft stream. You know what I mean?

01:02:54 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 2:

I truly, I'm about to be 42 years old. This is new information to me.

01:03:00 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 3:

Any guys want to call up and talk about their stream? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

01:03:06 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 5:

It's one of those. If I have a not-so-good stream, I'll put my head down and walk away from the urinal in shame and just be like, we'll get them next time.

01:03:15 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to think if girls have anything like this that we're competitive about in the bathroom. Yeah, your poops. No, we're not competitive. It's like I compete with myself if I have a good poop. And I'm like, ooh, that came out of me.

01:03:31 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 3:

I have friends that don't look back to see what it looks like.

01:03:33 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

You are a liar. I'm not saying you. I'm saying if you say you don't, you're a liar. How do you even check your toilet paper to make sure you don't need another wipe?

01:03:41 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 3:

You should, for even health reasons, check back. You should make sure that you're looking. See if you want a bullet on the stool. Yeah. You want to make sure. Well, that or discoloration sometimes. What's discoloration? What's that mean? Sometimes you get the albino poop. Have you ever had the albino poop?

01:03:58 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 5:

A ghost poop? No.

01:03:59 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

No. That's not a ghost poop. No, an albino poop. A ghost poop is, you don't need to wipe more than that.

01:04:02 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:04:03 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 2:

It's like a clean poop.

01:04:03 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 3:

Or the vitiligo poop. I've had a vitiligo poop before. Yeah. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hello. Hey, good morning. How you doing? We're doing fantastic. How are you? Would you like to tell us about your stream?

01:04:18 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. First of all, I don't know what neighborhood he's from, but that is not a thing from where I grew up. Wait. What? Oh, no. You don't worry about your stream? no no first of all why are you comparing i mean that's just too close for comfort for me

01:04:33 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 3:

but you understand you understand though that it's good to have a strong stream if you have a bad if you don't have a if you have a soft stream or a or like a sputtering stream

01:04:43 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 4:

you got to fix the hose a little trickle yeah yeah my dad when he was 70 worried about it

01:04:49 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

01:05:15 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 6:

01:06:39 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 6:

01:06:45 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 5:

Wait, where's Donald then? Donald, get on the phone.

01:06:47 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm not here, man. Look, I don't know about you, but if I'm in a stall or in my urinal and I'm hearing a guy scream next to me and I'm thinking in my head, I got to scream harder than him.

01:06:59 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely. That's so funny.

01:07:02 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 5:

It's competitiveness, man. You got to make sure that you're better. It makes you feel like you're healthier. What's up, Shai? How you doing?

01:07:10 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you?

01:07:11 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 5:

Good. What do you think of all this stuff?

01:07:14 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, comment on the other guy passing gas. Well, my husband, he has a strong stream as well. And I don't know what's the thing because he won't let me be in there if he pees because he passes gas as well. And then our 11-year-old son, he has the same thing where he's in sixth grade now. Last year, he said they heard him peeing and they were making fun of him. So now he refuses to go to the bathroom.

01:07:34 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. You know what? All those kids are jerks. I'm going to tell you, later in life, those kids are going to have problems with their prostates. I guarantee you. Stream shaming should not be a thing. Yeah. Matter of fact, you should be called a bully in school and have to serve a detention if you're stream shaming. What's up, Rosie? Hey, how are you? Good. What's going on? We're just checking all the guys' streams today. How's your guys' stream?

01:07:57 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, I wanted to make a comment about mine. Yeah. Okay, Rosie. Rosie, why? Oh, girl, I've got a strong stream. I could pee in a Gatorade bottle.

01:08:05 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Rosie. I need to take a pee-pee.

01:08:08 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Wow. That's amazing. Rosie's got like one of them shower heads. You're my kind of girl. You're turning me on, Rosie. That's amazing.

01:08:15 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 3:

I didn't have a cup, and I was in the car, so that was the next best thing instead of my clothes.

01:08:19 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 5:

What town are you from?

01:08:21 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 3:

Detroit.

01:08:22 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Eastside, definitely, right?

01:08:25 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 3:

No, Southwest. Oh, okay.

01:08:28 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. Southwest. There you go. All right. That's my girl. So you got any Latin in you?

01:08:33 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 3:

A little bit, yep.

01:08:35 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, you see that? That's what happens. I'm telling you. That's what happens. You can get a Gatorade bottle going there. What's going on, Bill? Hi.

01:08:44 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how you doing? Good, Bill. What's up? I could write my full name in the snow. Wait, wait. What is your full name?

01:08:54 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 3:

This is insanity.

01:08:55 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 5:

Like William? Bill Allen. Bill Allen.

01:08:58 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 3:

Birthday list. Oh, my God.

01:09:02 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 5:

01:09:04 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 3:

No William, no William. Oh, my God. If I find Wes in the backyard writing Wes Will in the snow today, this dang topic.

01:09:13 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Well, it's funny that you say that because Misfit Victor is on the phone with us right now. And Misfit Victor can write Misfit Victor in the snow. I've seen it.

01:09:23 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Hey, it's funny you brought this topic up. I just found a Instagram page that I just texted to you, Mojo. It's called long-distance peeing, but not the word peeing. It's whatever. But people post videos on there all day, like where they'll be standing on their sink in the bathroom, like aiming into the toilet.

01:09:46 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 5:

Hold on.

01:09:47 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 7:

This is great.

01:09:49 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:09:49 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 7:

It's unbelievable. It's one of the best pages I've ever followed.

01:09:52 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. I'm sending it to all you guys so we can send this to Wes, Shannon. This is fantastic. Every – wait. Have you ever –

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 3:

01:10:08 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 2:

Bill? Go to the outhouse. Where's Bill at right now? What are you doing, Bill? We in his pocket. No, I...

01:11:00 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 3:

at 8 20 on mojo in the morning a couple of quick little things this is interesting and i want to ask this question if anybody's ever done this before um if you hate your friend's boyfriend, should you tell her? More than half of women polled, 57%, think that they owe it to their friend to tell her how they feel about the guy that she's dating. The other 43% say it's none of their business to say anything at all. But have you ever had it where you had a friend of yours, and obviously it doesn't have to be a boyfriend that they're dating. It could be a guy dating a girlfriend or whatever um that you just did not like the person that they were dating do you say something or do you not say something and if so does it cost you your friendship if you do say

01:11:58 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 5:

something what do you guys think I learned the hard way with this because um my friend Julie who's now married thank goodness to a great guy but a couple of years ago she was dating this guy and she lives down in Indiana and I had gone to visit her and so I was meeting him for the first time and he just totally rubbed me the wrong way and gave all sorts of red flags but she seemed happy and so I didn't want to like I didn't want to ruin that for her and it wasn't until they broke up and he turned out to be a really toxic human being that I said I knew it like I had this gut feeling and I wanted to tell you so bad but I didn't I don't want to ruin your happiness and she was so upset with me for not you know telling her all of these red flags that I saw from the outside because when you're looking from the outside in it's very different the problem though

01:12:48 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 3:

is if you speak up it is one of those things where people people are blinded by love and if you speak up while they're blinded by love they're only going to see you as either the enemy jealous friend or you maybe you know and i'm jealous not meaning jealous like you want that person but jealousy you want that person's time and that's the reason why you're saying it and i think that you've got to be really, really careful. Like, I think they have to see some of the bad signs before you can step up and say something.

01:13:20 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yep. Yeah. That's very interesting. Because, like, some of that stuff, like, I'm trying to figure out a way to say it, but oftentimes, like, you can't trust. It's like somebody trying to give a microscopic opinion from a telescopic viewpoint. Like, they're so far away, yet they're trying to tell you something that you're close up against.

01:13:40 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 3:

I think guys are, don't, Kevin, And do you think that guys have it easier to say to one of their buddies, you know, hey, this girl is nuts?

01:13:49 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 4:

See, I've never been in a situation where I felt like a girl was crazy. The only situations that I feel like I've been involved in or guys that I know have been involved in is if you feel like she a hoe or you seen her like sleeping around or something like that. Outside of like that being the reason you speak up, I can't really find too many other situations unless she was like truly wilding out at a party.

01:14:10 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 3:

were you like hey bro could you tell could you tell a guy that his girl was a hoe yeah for sure see see i think i i agree and i think but i think women have a harder time telling their girl

01:14:21 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 4:

that this guy is bad i feel like i feel like they don't because what i hear a lot of the time is girl code girl code girl code we support women women forever where it's almost like if you see your girl is going down the wrong path there may be some hesitation involved but i always feel like girls are like that's my best friend and regardless of it she knows where i'm coming from for sure

01:14:43 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 5:

but also in that same vein i see one of my closest friends and in this case my friend julie and i'm like but she's so dang happy yeah you know and so you don't want to you don't want to wreck that

01:14:54 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

i it was that way it was hard hey june what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi

01:15:00 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I had a friend who dated this absolute jerk of a human for probably about two and a half, three years. And there were numerous times where I expressed my concern to her where I was like, hey, this person is definitely taking advantage of you and not treating you right. She actually really distanced herself from me and didn't want to talk to me very much because I wasn't supportive of the relationship. But when they broke up, I immediately got phone calls. I'm so sorry. You were right. I should have listened to you. So, but yeah, I can see why some people maybe don't want to say it because some people just don't want to hear it. And if they're not ready to see it themselves, they don't respond well.

01:15:37 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 4:

You almost, you have to wait until they get burned a couple of times. Like, and I hate to say this, even if you know way ahead of time, because you don't want to see your friend get hurt. But if you don't say anything for a little bit, they start, you know, they'll notice things. If you say something way before they start noticing things, you're going to be judged.

01:15:59 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 1:

That's really good advice.

01:16:00 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 4:

I think it's going to be a tougher thing.

01:16:04 - 01:16:07 | Speaker 1:

But that's tough, though, to sit back and watch your friend get hurt.

01:16:07 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you know what, though? Not so tough.

01:16:09 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 1:

But as a parent, you can attest to this, of sometimes you have to let Josiah fail so that he can learn from it.

01:16:19 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Wait till your kids get older, too. But I think like in those situations, I feel like I have already attempted to provide the lesson. And if I tell him something to do and he's just not listening, then he bumps his head. It's like, I mean. Okay.

01:16:33 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

But Shannon brings this up and it's interesting because she uses the kids as the analogy. Wait till it's your kids that are the ones that start getting into the dating world. That's my mama with me. Would you say something?

01:16:45 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 3:

Boy, my mama done told me hella times.

01:16:47 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 4:

She tells you how to do your relationship?

01:16:50 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 3:

She didn't tell me, stop messing with this one. You should have kept this one. And every time, she'd been right. What's up, Michelle?

01:16:57 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Michelle, what's going on?

01:16:59 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 6:

Not much. Thanks for taking my call.

01:17:02 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're welcome. What's happening?

01:17:05 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 6:

So I'm kind of in the same situation. I have an adult child that is dating someone that I didn't feel was the appropriate person for him. And, yeah, it's caused some hostility now.

01:17:19 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:17:19 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 6:

They're not happy with me, yeah.

01:17:20 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 4:

Wait, because you spoke up and said you don't like this person.

01:17:23 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 6:

Because I spoke up. Yeah, and I gave my reasons why, and they didn't agree with me.

01:17:29 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 4:

And are they still with that person?

01:17:32 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 6:

No, they're not, but maybe they are. I'm not sure. Maybe they're hiding it.

01:17:37 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 4:

So, wait, they're not. What made them break up, or what made them not be together?

01:17:42 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 6:

Because I spoke up and they took my opinion and supposedly went and broke up with the person. But it's been hostile ever since. It's been quite a few months and it's hostile ever since. And, you know, it's your own trial. It's hard when it's your own trial.

01:18:00 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 4:

They're upset with you because you, even though they took your advice on this, what was it about that person that you didn't like?

01:18:10 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 6:

I just didn't feel that they complimented my child. Like, I felt that he was a different person when he was with that person. And not only myself, but everyone in our family saw it and came to me. And then I had to be the scapegoat to say it to him.

01:18:27 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 4:

And so he's taking it out on you now because he's no longer in that relationship. But you think possibly they're still talking to each other?

01:18:34 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 6:

I hope not. But, you know, they're adult children. What can you do? You can only seek your peace and hope that they make the right decision. But ultimately, ultimately, at the end of the day, it's going to be up to what they want to do.

01:18:45 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I get it, too. I mean, Chelsea and I have boys and boys, I think, are different than than girls are, where I think a mom's influence on her daughter is a little bit easier than a mom's influence on their son. You know, yeah. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. What's what's going on?

01:19:05 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 2:

voice disguise d d hi first time long time by the way we're talking about uh would you tell

01:19:16 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 4:

somebody that you didn't like their significant other if you thought they were bad for them

01:19:20 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 2:

so i have a family member um her best friend refused to stand up in her wedding

01:19:29 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 4:

because she doesn't like the person that she's marrying yeah they her guy is disrespectful

01:19:37 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 2:

and has been for a while it's her first boyfriend she's marrying oh boy oh gosh how old are they uh yeah they're about 22 23 babies so pretty young pretty young and it's caused some issues

01:19:56 - 01:19:57 | Speaker 4:

and the friendship, huh?

01:19:57 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 2:

It has a lot. They don't want to enable it.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 3:

her they definitely want what's best for her what do you think you think that person's not good for

01:20:05 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 2:

them uh no i don't think so oh boy yeah that's tough and them going to get married is even worse than them just dating because they're making that big step for sure wow uh thank you for taking my call i've listened to you guys forever thank you we love you you gotta stand up in the wedding when And they say, speak now, forever hold your peace. I want to make sure we get Joey on here. Because, Joey, you actually had your best friend in the entire world say something about the girl you were dating.

01:20:41 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so she pretty much came out and told me that she doesn't like my girlfriend for a bunch of reasons.

01:20:48 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 2:

And so she told you this, and how did you take it when she told you?

01:20:54 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 3:

um i mean she pretty much just listed a bunch of red flags so i'm 19 and my girlfriend's 22 but my girlfriend doesn't have a big social media presence so she doesn't have instagram or facebook or tiktok and she thought that was kind of weird and that there's probably something wrong with her if she doesn't have these social medias well i don't know if that's

01:21:16 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

anything weird i think that's actually probably healthy for her but how did how did your best

01:21:21 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 3:

friend telling you these things changed your relationship with her i mean it it kind of felt like she wanted me to break up with her just because she doesn't have a big social media

01:21:31 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

presence well do you think your your best friend your best female friend has a thing for you

01:21:36 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 3:

no definitely not she she has a long-term boyfriend and a child with this guy so

01:21:42 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 2:

definitely not well like why why does your girl not have a social media presence have you asked

01:21:48 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 3:

her um no i haven't really asked her i kind of boiled it down to that because she's told me a lot that she doesn't get along with other girls and she finds all the other images of women on tiktok and instagram like making her feel self-conscious yeah that's a really healthy thing

01:22:07 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 2:

your girl your girl sounds like she's got a good head on her shoulder best friend a hater sometimes yeah wow i so joey you sound like a guy that needs help making decisions are you a guy

01:22:22 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 3:

that needs help making decisions i mean not really i'm not i'm not gonna listen to what my friend says i'm not gonna get rid of her unless i find something bad out yeah about my girl well plus

01:22:35 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 2:

you don't want to get rid of anybody that's giving you ass until you find somebody else that's going to give you ass, right? Exactly. Especially 22 ass at 19. Joey. Joey just sounds lost here. Joey, I'm worried about you.

01:22:50 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 3:

I'll figure it out.

01:22:52 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right, we'll talk to you later, buddy. Thank you. I think Joey confused me more about this topic than anybody else. Marie, what's up, Marie? What's going on?

01:23:04 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 1:

Hello. I had a best friend and bridesmaid who I'm no longer friends with because of her husband and she kind of picked the wrong guy and it's hard to be friends with her and support her now.

01:23:16 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 2:

What's wrong with him?

01:23:18 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 1:

The very first time I met him, he was chewing tobacco and just walked right up to my kitchen sink and spat in it. So that was the first red flag. Yeah, okay. And then after that, he was just making like racist comments, ignorant remarks. And I was just kind of like appalled. like me and my husband couldn't believe this guy and so i thought to myself like there's no way that this is gonna work out and she started dating him after breaking up with her long-term boyfriend well they never broke up they got married and it's just been hard to maintain the relationship because there's just very little that i can like say to support her now and she tells me about these like things that he does and who he is etc so that's hard yeah yeah so

01:24:09 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 2:

let me ask you you guys don't see each other now that you've said all this stuff and you're just

01:24:14 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 1:

watching this from a distance i'm watching from a distance and i've never directly addressed it with her because it was so bad from the start i thought to myself i don't want to like burst her bubble i feel like she's gonna figure this out by herself and i didn't want to isolate her um you know as she went through this and then it turned out you know i kind of wish i did say something because i feel like she hitched her wagon to like the completely wrong course you know

01:24:41 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

well i think you almost got to let it play out and i think once you stop you know you let them let them play out then they eventually come to you and i hate to say this So sometimes you almost need to say to them after the fact, like, hey, I was going to say something to you, but I don't want to let you know. I would rather have a.

01:25:00 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 3:

friend that would speak up personally than a person that would sit in the background and not say anything and i would hope my friendships would be strong enough where i could also say to them hey you know what i'll live my life and enjoy it and then we'll wait and see um but i also would hope that my friends would be open-minded enough to trust me in my you know ability to be able to give advice, but alright, thank you for the call

01:25:28 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate it

01:25:30 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 3:

and don't let them spit in your sink

01:25:32 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 2:

disgusting

01:25:33 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 3:

the freaking racist is spitting in your sink WKQI Detroit

01:25:40 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 2:

01:26:26 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 3:

mom uh she she started talking to you about something that she's never done before you you said something to me one time about your mom which i thought was interesting you've never really seen your mom drink more than a couple of drinks like like a handful like i can count on my hands how

01:26:42 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 4:

many times i've ever seen her take an alcoholic beverage that's just never been her vibe never

01:26:48 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

been with you as a son she's never had to like pull up a whiskey bottle no she just turned to

01:26:53 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 4:

prayer that was it she's never turned to patrol and another thing that she's never done is smoked like i've never seen my mother smoke cigarettes black and miles we never seen her smoke anything but last night when i got home from the pistons game she was sitting on the couch and it's not like i brought this up she's been watching that mayor east town show so i don't know if like what she's watching is starting to get into her brain no no no this is uh jeremy renner oh that's the show i keep talking about mayor of kingstown it's incredible oh kingstown yeah it's incredible um and there's some drug paraphernalia in the show so i'm thinking maybe that's got her wheels turning but she was asking about taking edibles and then she was asking if i would take her take one with her like she would be down for that i'm like no no my sister and i used to joke that my mom needed to calm down and maybe if she hit the blunt one once or twice like that would just chill her out and she was always you know heisman pose like no this is not for me so hearing her actually contemplate this i didn't feel like she was joking i was like wow should i indulge i'm not gonna do it but i don't know if i want to see my mama high at this point in her life

01:28:07 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 3:

oh i would love to see my parents high i wish that they would have been i don't know man My dad would have been great. You know, it's interesting. I never knew if my parents ever did any kind of, my dad drank and my mom drank, but I don't know if they ever did any kind of drugs. But to be able to see your mom high, Kev, that would be glorious.

01:28:32 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 4:

What if she has a bad trip or something? What if she started freaking out? And then you'd feel responsible. Right. She went, I want to go to the hospital. Like, I don't want to be involved in that.

01:28:41 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 3:

Your mom already is a great talker. She's very entertaining when she talks. She's like you. She's got the verbal game down. I just think she would be priceless. I got to film the whole thing, stream it. Oh, my God. I think there's got to be some listeners of ours that have gotten their parents or grandparents completely stoned and then videotaped on TikTok or something. Where are Where are the The stoners of the Mojo in the morning show Any of you guys ever get your parents on

01:29:14 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 1:

Zach goes through We need to get Mojo in the morning misfit Pot smoking granny on We haven't talked to her in ages And she'd be the perfect person to talk to

01:29:23 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 3:

Pot smoking granny We could have pot smoking granny hang out with your mom

01:29:28 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if my mom is ready for that

01:29:31 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

01:29:32 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 4:

Some things should just be ideas

01:29:34 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 3:

And not execute Are you stoned with your kids? I don't. So, Zach, it's funny that you say this. When I started seeing my son, Joe, high, which he's high 99.9% of the time now, but we went to Vegas to the iHeart Festival. Shannon knows this.

01:29:50 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I remember this.

01:29:51 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

And he and Chad got, like, totally, like, fall on their freaking face stoned. And it was.

01:30:00 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 4:

So disconcerting for me to see it that it made me not interested in weed. I don't know what it was. Because, you know, your whole life you spend telling your kids, don't do drugs, don't drink, you know, listen to your authority, you know, follow directions, all this stuff. And in one fell swoop, I look at him and he looks like a big doofus, you know. But I don't know. But Zach, I'm going to tell you this, that if you're going to get stoned with anybody, get stoned with Joe because he's got good crap. Well, tell him to come on over. He does. Chelsea stoned is interesting because she only does it to fall asleep. But she smiles and gets very happy. I hallucinate when I get stoned. See, and that's not what I'm trying to be a part of.

01:30:52 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that sounds not fun to me.

01:30:55 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 4:

what are you hallucinating like what do you see yeah what are you seeing that's a good question i it's it's like i i see i'm like the you ever uh i think i even have the drop in there under double rainbow i'm the double rainbow i'm like the oh look at that double rainbow i just start seeing things like i start getting and it's usually only if i'm taking a very rainbow yeah yeah that's that's me i it's only i if i take a little bit of it like you remember how i was when I took Zins for the first time? You couldn't feel your feet? Yeah. I didn't realize, by the way, I didn't realize until we talked about it on the air that there were lighter versions of Zins.

01:31:34 - 01:31:35 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:31:35 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, there's different, like, potencies?

01:31:37 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like 2%, 5% of nickels. What did you have? We went to six. You went straight for it. Yeah. That's crazy. Hold on, Wendy, you there, Wendy? Yep, I'm here. Who do you guys get stoned?

01:31:51 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 2:

My mother-in-law, my husband's mom, she's 83. And whenever we go visit her, we always give her gummies or we get her stoned or whatever. And it's hilarious. It's a lot of fun. You are high as a f***ing kite.

01:32:07 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 4:

What do you mean hilarious? What does she do?

01:32:09 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

She's just funny. She'll start dancing. She yodels. She yodels. She yodels. Yeah, she is the best yodeler I've ever heard in my life.

01:32:20 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 4:

that's so random what's her name yeah but her name's sally

01:32:27 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 2:

sally sally the stoner and so i got her to quit smoking cigarettes and i told her to just smoke vapes and she started smoking vapes and then we got her off the nicotine so now she's just smoking non-nicotine vape and she's got it in her hand all the time it's so funny oh she's having

01:32:51 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 4:

the best time uh she deserves it she's 83 years old she's lived a good long life brianna you

01:32:57 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 1:

accidentally got your dad stoned yes me and my sister accidentally gave him edibles it was thanksgiving dinner and we were trying to be funny and we had some edible gummies but we labeled it like sugar-free, gluten-free, whatever edibles thinking nobody would eat them. They were like many dummy bears. My dad thought they were just regular dummy bears, and he ate the whole bag of them. Oh, God. And my dad does not do drugs whatsoever. It was quite entertaining. Nobody had leftovers. He ate everything. He was so out of it. It was hilarious.

01:33:34 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 4:

He never told them. What's dad's name?

01:33:37 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 1:

His name is Gerald.

01:33:39 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. And they'll get him hanging out with Sally.

01:33:43 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 1:

Exactly, right?

01:33:45 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 4:

Buddy, we should do, by the way, this is a party sometime. We should do a senior stone day. Oh, that'd be fire. I wish that we could get the FCC to allow us to have advertisers beat. We would make so much money. Can you imagine? That's all you hear. Yeah, every commercial right now we run are either, you know, Kamala commercials or betting app commercials. They'd be all weed commercials. Once they figure out how to get their cut, they'll allow it.

01:34:15 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 2:

You guys, these calls are hysterical.

01:34:17 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 4:

Debbie, what's up, Debbie?

01:34:19 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 3:

So, I'm the senior, and I got my whole family high on weed brownies by mistake. I took him to the football game, and I got my son, his wife, his mother-in-law, my granddaughter, and her best friend always been on weed brownies at the football game.

01:34:40 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:34:41 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Before I went to the football game, I went to my other son's house and dropped off six brownies for him, his girl, and the four little rascals. and when we got to the football game i gave everybody their you know their brownie and

01:35:00 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 1:

My son smashed a second brownie. My granddaughter and her friend ate one-and-a-half brownies. And then I said, you better leave that last one for my grandson that's playing football. And my son said, screw him and ate the third brownie. Oh, my goodness. At halftime, I went to the concession stand and came back to the shit show. Oh, you can't say that?

01:35:24 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

You can't say that. Dump that. She said spit show.

01:35:28 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 1:

He comes to me and says, Mom, I think you screwed up on the brownies. I said, there's no way. I go up to the stands, and my daughter-in-law is ready to bust the gut. Her mom is laughing. I'm like, oh, no. So I have to call my other son that I left the brownies behind for and said, don't eat the brownies. And they didn't call. They wouldn't answer the phone, so I text him. And his girl calls me right away. She goes, why? And I go, everybody's messed up over here. I think I screwed up. And she said, no, I just, me and my other girl just ate one ten minutes ago. Oh, yeah, everybody, everybody.

01:36:04 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

01:36:06 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

We had three cars at the football game. I had to drive.

01:36:12 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Kev, this is who you want. Yeah, that's a great story. I don't think so. I don't. Listen, Steve, are you there, Steve? Yeah, what's up? What did your mom do?

01:36:24 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 4:

so i was like 15 and uh she went into my room for something and uh she must have thought this ziploc bag was uh my grandma's uh family famous brownie and uh i was off at school and uh i come home from football practice and she is so red-eyed on the couch with a bunch of snacks hysterically cry laughing at the real house. Best day ever. She knew what it was by the time I got home, but she was laughing and crying so hard. She said, we're not going to talk about this right now, but we'll talk about it later.

01:37:17 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's the best. Mom is completely fried

01:37:21 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 4:

on the couch yeah yeah it was uh it was awesome because she don't she well now she does she she loves me now but she didn't like me like 10 years ago she didn't like now she's high it's funny your

01:37:37 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 3:

mom didn't like you until she started getting high oh that that's a great one all right well kev's got to go over and he's got to get his mom some and this will make mom feel good she'll sleep like a baby, Kyle. Yeah, maybe I'll make it happen.

01:37:52 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 4:

Hear the show again after the show. Listen to the Mojo in the Morning channel on iHeartRadio!

01:37:58 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 2:

Channel 955.

01:38:01 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:04 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

Alright, why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're gonna find out right here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Lydia, who's getting ghosted?

01:38:14 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Tara's getting ghosted. Aw, Tara. Hi, Tara. Hi.

01:38:19 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Tara. Thanks for coming on with us. I appreciate it. If you are getting ghosted, if you're going on a date with somebody and then they're not calling you back or maybe giving you a reason why they're not going on any other dates, you can text to us DATE to 95500, that's D-A-T-E, and get on just like Tara did. So tell us, how many dates have you gone on with this person? Where did you guys meet? Where did you guys go last?

01:38:45 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 2:

I mean, we were kind of, like, flirty for a hot second. And then, all right, so I'm a fitness coach, so I have classes at a gym, and she is a new member. Her name's Alice. We went out to drink Friday after class, like, two weeks ago, and I haven't heard from her since. Like, she hasn't shown up to any of the classes she signed up for. She won't answer my texts.

01:39:14 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 3:

So it wasn't that she just came to your classes and took your classes and is now just not working out anymore. You guys actually had interaction with each other that would be that of, okay, I think that they quite possibly might like me.

01:39:29 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. And so I'm confused because she totally agreed to go out with me for a drink. But now I haven't heard from her. And we had a good time when we were out.

01:39:39 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

All right, Alice is on the phone with us. Alice, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

01:39:44 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Um, yeah, that's fine.

01:39:47 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, say hey to Tara.

01:39:49 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Tara. Hi.

01:39:53 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 3:

Now, Alice, for me, it would be I never actually follow through on working out or going to another. class he he had a membership at a local gym for like two years and never actually went to a class

01:40:05 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 7:

i bought i also bought packages to uh to our reina's uh yoga school i've never been to the yoga school the yoga garden it's been a while support your friends that's right um but i will go sometime hopefully um so what's the story alice i mean look i honestly tara i just wasn't

01:40:26 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 6:

really vibing with you and now i i just feel really embarrassed because you know i signed up at the gym and i can't quit for like i don't know what six months um and the other thing is like you started talking about being the cutest couple at the gym and honestly we haven't even known each

01:40:45 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 7:

other that long wait what did she do she started talking about you guys being a couple yeah and

01:40:50 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 6:

I'm like the cutest couple at the gym and, you know.

01:40:54 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 7:

And you guys have just started just hanging out with each other and she's already called you a couple?

01:40:58 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but I just don't want to be in a situation where I'm pushed into something so quickly. You know what I mean?

01:41:05 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:41:06 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 7:

Tara, what do you have to say, Tara?

01:41:07 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 5:

I mean, we would be the cutest couple at the gym if we were ever to be a couple, but I didn't mean to put you in that situation. I just thought we were getting along and it was going really well and it was going to lead to something more. But you could have been honest And not have ghosted me Like that probably

01:41:26 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 6:

It was something I'm ready for something that committed I got excited and I like impulse Signed up

01:41:31 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 7:

Right I uh by the way This is another one of those things like With KP when KP started Kind of liking that guy that lived down the hall I don't think you date Neighbors and I don't Think you date people that you Go to the gym and meet Or especially the person

01:41:52 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 3:

Am I understanding the timeline You guys went out and then you joined the gym Or was it the other way around Other way around Oh okay So it is the same as what Mojo's talking about

01:42:03 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 7:

Because I just think that what you're doing is That's why I think you gotta be careful Dating in the office Because if you date in the office

01:42:10 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 3:

It becomes super awkward if you're not vibing Like you said Alice

01:42:14 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 7:

Alright so Are there other people that teach your class that you do, Tara? Or are you the only one?

01:42:24 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 5:

I am the only one.

01:42:26 - 01:42:26 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:42:27 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 7:

Do you think that it was weird that you started calling yourselves a couple right away?

01:42:33 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 5:

No, because I thought it was really going to go somewhere because I felt like we had a really good connection.

01:42:39 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 7:

So you are, because initially when you said it, I was like, well, maybe she's just joking, but it sounds like you're forecasting.

01:42:45 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 5:

Well, I thought, yeah, because apparently I read everything wrong.

01:42:51 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 7:

All right, I want to ask a quick question to the listeners. I want to have them weigh in on this one, and I'm kind of bummed that it doesn't seem like it's working out for Tara, but maybe if you pull back a little bit, maybe it could. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who is in the wrong on this one? And I know that it seems obvious that Tara might be. Tara, you know, working as a trainer in a gym, and, you know, trying to push this relationship forward, calling themselves a relationship. But is Alice also in the wrong, too, in the fact that she specifically, you know.

01:43:26 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 3:

Knew they weren't vibing.

01:43:27 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, knew and didn't say anything about this. Yes, yes. But so there's a bunch of things here, especially the whole calling yourselves a couple thing kind of pushes it back. Eric, what do you think?

01:43:38 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 1:

honestly this is the first um uh second date update where i've seen like honestly alice is being extremely truthful both of them are being extremely truthful open and honest and everything like that you know why it is that that's the case they're women they're smart exactly there's no guy involved they're being all shady and whatnot or like the women are being shady they're dealing

01:44:04 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 7:

with guys that's why i think that we have such a problem picking aside on this one i know it

01:44:10 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

sounds like honestly they just need to hash it out and everything will work out it doesn't even

01:44:15 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 2:

need to be hashed out like they they they both said it very nicely i guess you know we need we

01:44:21 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 7:

need to maybe honestly have there needs to be more gay relationships on second date update yeah i wonder if if guys would be the same way or if we had two guys would it be a complete train wreck

01:44:33 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I got my notepad out and everything. I'm going to take this to my fiance. Hopefully it'll work later on.

01:44:40 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 7:

Helena, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

01:44:43 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so I was just saying that you should not date customers.

01:44:47 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

01:44:48 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 4:

Just don't do that.

01:44:50 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:44:50 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 4:

Most of the time it doesn't end well.

01:44:52 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. We've actually had that with salespeople at the station where it was told by a sales manager back in the day. Like, do not.

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 6:

Not date clients.

01:45:01 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 3:

It happens all the time, though.

01:45:03 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Not a good situation. What's up, Moosa? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning. Hi, how are you? Good. Your thoughts? Second date update.

01:45:12 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 4:

I think Tara's in the wrong here. She was pushing things out way too far before she even knew what Alice was thinking. So I think Tara's definitely in the wrong here.

01:45:25 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, and you know what? Alice, unfortunately, is not on hold to – she disconnected during a part.

01:45:33 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 5:

Super dusty. So I don't know.

01:45:36 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, maybe she feels a little embarrassed by this one. But, Tara, so Moosa says that you're in the wrong.

01:45:42 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I think, yeah. I mean, I guess I was. I guess I just read all the signs wrong, and it was different. I mean, if you were there, you'd probably understand. I don't know.

01:45:56 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 6:

Whatever. Can I ask you, how often do you find yourself ever dating somebody that comes to your classes?

01:46:03 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 2:

Not often at all. This is like, I don't know.

01:46:06 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 6:

So you really put yourself out there doing this?

01:46:08 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 2:

In like five years, you know what I mean? Yeah.

01:46:10 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Because I was going to say, you got to be really careful because you'll lose clients along with, you know, losing a relationship.

01:46:18 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 5:

But I don't think Tara was wrong. I think she just said her feelings too quickly, if that makes sense. If she feels like they would be a great couple, she said the vibe was great. We think we're the cutest. I don't think she's wrong in feeling the way she does.

01:46:31 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 3:

No, I actually agree with you. I'm just trying to say, like, I wonder if we all, and Alice especially, took that as being a very serious comment. And really, she's like, we're the cutest couple at the gym. Alice got back on with us. Some people would let that roll off their back. Like, we're not a couple yet. But like, okay, we are cute. You know what I mean? But I could see it being taken a different way.

01:46:50 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 6:

Alice, you did not hang up on purpose. That was just a phone problem?

01:46:53 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. I'm so sorry.

01:46:54 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 6:

Okay, because we were worried there.

01:46:56 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Don't go, Alice. Sorry about that.

01:46:58 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 6:

So, Alice, that was just brought up a second ago. It's like...

01:47:01 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:47:02 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 6:

You know, maybe you're taking the couple thing a little too far?

01:47:08 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I could have, like, you know, like, jumped the gun, and I've been burned before by getting into things too quickly, so maybe I'm being a little sensitive. I don't know. I did have a good time. Like, I did. And you said you weren't vibing.

01:47:26 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 3:

So there was more that rubbed you the wrong way besides that comment. Yeah. Yes or no? Yes. Okay.

01:47:34 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 6:

Would you be able to share, Alice, or do you not want to share?

01:47:37 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah. It's just, like, a little awkward. Like, I just, aside from not really vibing, like, I just am kind of interested in someone else.

01:47:48 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay, okay. So why are you even going on a date?

01:47:51 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

I mean, because we're not exclusive, and it's not, and, you know, like, we're still dating other people, but I just also...

01:47:58 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 6:

How dare you? Guys never do stuff like that.

01:48:01 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 3:

I know. I know that's fair. This is where the... You guys weren't in a committed relationship. That's fair.

01:48:05 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 6:

This is where women are evil. I'm joking.

01:48:08 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 5:

We're not evil. What happened, Tara, when you said that to Alice? Like, what was her reaction? Do you remember it?

01:48:15 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 2:

I remember that she wasn't, like, super, like, enthusiastic like I thought she would be. But, like, I didn't think that it affected her in any way. Like, I mean, we still had good conversation afterwards. Yeah. So, yeah. I mean, like, I put myself out on the line because I knew that I'd have to see her every week as well.

01:48:37 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 6:

By the way, people are texting us that know Tara because they take her classes. People are like, I know who Tara is. And they say that you are excellent, and they love your classes, and they are rooting for you, and they want you to know that you're beautiful and that you will be good. So that's cool. They like it. They don't love it. Thank you for going on, guys. We appreciate it. Second date update. If you're not getting a call back after you've been out on dates with someone, text us. It's date to 95500.

01:49:09 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. And more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:17 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 6:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon almost died for a Dyson. I like this, is it? By the way, for those of you who don't know, what is a Dyson?

01:49:28 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm not talking about the vacuum cleaner, because there are lots of different Dyson products, okay? There's like a Dyson air purifier. There's the Dyson air wrap. This is the Dyson.

01:49:37 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 6:

This is not a commercial for a Dyson, but they make more than just vacuums?

01:49:40 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the Dyson vacuum is crap. Don't waste your money on that. Get the mail away.

01:49:44 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 6:

So this is definitely not a commercial for a Dyson.

01:49:46 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no. Okay. But if you've been listening to this show for the better part of two years, you know that I have been longing for and dreaming about the Dyson hairdryer. Now, my 10-year-old daughter has one at her dad's house. Not fair. Okay.

01:50:00 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 1:

And she's had one for a couple of years, so I've been, like, trying to coerce her into bringing it to my house so that I could share it with her. That's part of child support. Yeah, that has not happened, okay? These things are expensive. I'm not paying full price for one. I'm not paying for one. And then I talked on the air a couple of days ago about how I went on vacation over the Christmas holiday, and there was a Dyson in the hotel room that I stayed in. And I was like, I wonder if I just took it, if they would charge me less than the actual retail price. And it didn't have all the accessories. No, but I wanted one so bad. So yesterday after the show, I got a DM from a listener named Laura that I just so happened to see and open and read. And she heard my topic. She's been hearing my topics about this damn Dyson hairdryer. And she said in her message to me that she had gotten one for Christmas two years ago. She loved it. But then she got the air wrap for Christmas from her husband this year.

01:51:00 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 2:

She got the what?

01:51:01 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 1:

The air wrap is like, it's like it curls your hair, too. OK, it does all the things. Oh, I was going to say. It makes you tan and skinny and does your hair. It does everything.

01:51:09 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 2:

They should think again about that name. That sounds like a name that could get you canceled.

01:51:12 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, so she said to me in her message she didn't need to. so she offered to sell me hers for a fraction of the price that it's on sale for at the store right now so I was in immediately I mean I ran out of this studio went to tell Lydia Lydia knows like how bad I want this Dyson I was so excited so she sends me her address and I realize she it was very convenient she lives not even five minutes from she actually lives like right across the street from my mom and so I was planning on stopping by while I was out running all of my errands yesterday afternoon well I pull onto her street and I'm going to pull into her driveway and my stomach gets this pit in it and I thought to myself you are dumb Shannon like what if this girl is not real what if this girl is not even a girl and this is just all allure to get me to some random person's house and then they're gonna rob me or jump me or kidnap me or kill me and truly i thought to myself i was like you are such an idiot and you're doing this for a freaking hair dryer but how much money were you truly okay a lot like hundreds of dollars right worth it so i'm sitting in the car for your life i am sitting in my car and she can she can corroborate the story i'm sitting in my car in her driveway and i'm like dumb dumb you are stupid like what are you doing this is so not safe whatsoever and then i'm like screw it i want That's so bad. I'm here now. So I look up. Okay, I'm already in her driveway at this point. I look up to get out of my car, and she's standing right there next to my car door with the box for the hairdryer. Does she look like a killer? She, I'm not joking, and Laura, I hope you're listening right now. First off, she's the sweetest. She's also, I think, the most beautiful listener I've ever seen in my history with this show. Oh, now I hate her. She gives the deal to you, and she's hot? And she's hot. Yeah. I hate her. And very normal. Did not, did not, you know, tie me up and drag me into her house. I am here today and very fine. That was so nice of her. And I have the hair dryer. I'm so jealous.

01:53:23 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, so here's the thing that I would love for calls on this one. What could have happened to Shannon? Has anybody ever done, like, Facebook Marketplace or what are the other ones that people go to? Craigslist. Oh, remember back in the day? Yeah. Craigslist was. You want to know what happens on Craigslist? People chop off your toes or suck them. One of those two. They do something with them. But it's either one or the other. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want you to give Shannon the horror story of what could happen so she doesn't now become addicted to going to people's homes and buying things. Because I think that this is actually one of those deals where i've heard people that will say that they don't even know if they they would trust selling something if they didn't do the pickup like in a parking lot of a police station so i do i have

01:54:18 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 1:

like a two different facebook groups that i'm a part of that it's strictly my neighborhood so you have to be invited by somebody that lives in the neighborhood i do that one all the time that but that feels very safe to me because you can see who your mutual friends are you know it's it's legit this was thank god she was normal yeah and female uh khalid what's up it's mojo in the

01:54:39 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 2:

morning let me kill too good morning yeah what could shannon have had happen to her if this woman was a crazy lady okay so uh anything really she could um have you ever had it have you ever tried to sell have you ever sold anything and had something happen Thank you.

01:55:00 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 3:

yeah so back when the iphone i believe six or seven came out uh i got the new one so i had my old previous one on sale and so i posted on Craigslist and met the person they got in the car and they were checking it out and then they took off running with it so you didn't get paid for it They didn't pay for anything. They were just like, can I see it? Check it out. They grabbed it and took off. Went into the towers, and I couldn't get in because I didn't have a code. Oh. Yeah.

01:55:41 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 1:

So it was in front of that. What towers was this? Where was this?

01:55:45 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 3:

This was off, like, 10 Mile and Southfield Streetway, I believe.

01:55:49 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, but no offense to anybody that lives in the towers over there. I don't even know if I'd pull over to pick up a friend that lived over there. I'd be so worried. He's been in the Regal Towers? Yeah. Can I be quite honest with you? Was this day or night?

01:56:05 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 3:

This was, like, sometime in the afternoon.

01:56:10 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. All right. At least there was daylight. That's craziness when people do it. How about the people that say that they want to get in your car with you? Yeah. Yeah, I'm not letting you in my car. This is kind of like the whole Megan thing, picking up a stranger. I'm not giving rides to people. What's up, Melissa?

01:56:26 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. So I was looking for a monitor for my son for his PC. He was cleaning his desk off, and he broke it. So I was on there, and it ended up being, so when I met up with a person, I thought it was a house. I couldn't find the address, and it ended up taking me to a gas station, and I kept messaging the person, and I was like, hey, you know, I'm here. Is this where I'm supposed to be meeting you? And it ended up being my son's father, who I'm no longer with. They've been together for years. An enemy of his that, I mean, even since high school, they, like, hated each other. It was like his arches nemesis. And his Facebook name was under a different name. It didn't even have a picture of him. I did recognize him. And we both kind of just, like, stood there because he knew who I was as well. And we both just kind of stood there. And he's like, well, do you still want to buy it? And I was like, well, I mean, that's fine with me. I don't know how he's going to feel when my son tells him. If I ever tell him the story, my son's 10. So I didn't tell my son or anything. What a coincidence.

01:57:25 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that is wild. At that point, if he was like an enemy of my husband's, I'd say, I don't love my husband. You know what I mean? Like, I would make him think that you just didn't want to get killed. What's up, Amber? How you doing?

01:57:38 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 5:

Hey, first time long. Hey, Amber Rose. so I'm a teacher and I used to teach in Tennessee and I had a student who was in college they had moved on but they were selling an xbox on Facebook marketplace and they got robbed in their parking lot and they were shot and killed over like an xbox oh my god oh that's that's so tragic that's awful so super glad that you are safe shannon but i don't i buy stuff off of facebook marketplace all the time and i don't really go through that in my head but definitely well you still do that knowing that a student had this happen to them yeah but i mean it's like little stuff i'm not going out and like selling electronics or anything big like that it does make a difference how little

01:58:30 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 1:

it is it still potentially could happen that's yeah yeah definitely scary careful amber that's very scary ellie what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hi first time long time

01:58:43 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 6:

so uh this is like back in 2018 i sold um a really old jeep on facebook marketplace or craigslist and the person sent me a check in the mail to mail it over a few states and the check was a fake check but the bank approved it and everything and um i was out a few thousand

01:59:06 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 4:

dollars a few weeks later no because if the bank approves it that's on them i know right they shut

01:59:12 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 6:

my account down but then a few years later i actually got a check in the mail for um you know they approved that it was fraud and not my fault oh okay that's good wow uh brian you got robbed

01:59:23 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

over a ps5 yes i did so it was back during covid when you couldn't get any like all the scalpers had them and they were selling them for ridiculous amounts yeah i found on craigslist um one that was going for 600 and i drove all the way to gary indiana i should have knew better and he had to meet him at a uh at a liquor store and he yeah and gary he put it dumber than me I'm very dumb. And he put...

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 3:

He has five in the window, showed me that it was all legit. It was all in there. As soon as I cashed half the money, he took the box right out of my car.

02:00:08 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. At least you're safe.

02:00:11 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 3:

I went to the police station. The police station had windows broken out. I knew I wasn't getting no help.

02:00:17 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 4:

By the way, my favorite are the people that buy something, and there's, like, rocks inside of the thing because the person scammed them. Tammy, what happened to you?

02:00:27 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 6:

first time very very long time um so my daughter got married this past august and at our house and so i was looking for a bunch of lanterns to put outside and on facebook somebody posted these two lanterns and so when i was dming her she gave me the address and said that the street was you had to turn into the prison in order to get to the street. So that was a little bit alarming to me. And I still went. And I passed back and forth a few times before I could figure out there were a few houses in front. And thankfully, they ended up being her husband worked for the prison. But I still went. And then later she even texted me. Yeah, later she texted me because I just left money. She left them on the front and said, You left too much. I'm going to leave the money, you know, the change or whatever, if you want to swing back by and get it. So it all ends up well. But I got my lanterns. The stuff we do to get a deal.

02:01:36 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 4:

Unreal, man. I would have said keep the change. How about this one here? Jennifer went to go. A guy was selling an Xbox. She showed up. And what did he have in his sweatpants?

02:01:47 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 6:

A gun just hanging out of his sweatpants. Like out of his pocket. Oh, Lord Jesus. Oh, my God.

02:01:52 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 4:

Something out of a movie. oh my god gray sweatpants with a gun sticking out of it great oh god that would have been that right there would have made me poop my pants steven what's up hi hey what's up hi steven's a doctor listen to what happened to one of his patients what happened

02:02:12 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 5:

uh so it was the same thing like somebody was meeting someone to buy something offline and the guy was in his car and the people tried to jump him and the guy reached in through his car through his driver's side and so the gentleman took off he drugged the guy on his car and then he hit a wall and the guy's arm got ripped off like inside of his truck

02:02:34 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 4:

a little souvenir oh my god did you have to reattach it?

02:02:42 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 5:

no it was gone the guy almost fled to death and got a stump for it

02:02:47 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

He was trying to wrap the guy. Oh, my God. You threw it up the window, right? By the way, do you have to pay extra for that? Hold on, Misfit Victor. Can you top any of these calls? Because there's no way. These calls have been unbelievable. I would have just hung up. What's up?

02:03:05 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Wait, did that guy get the product? Did he buy it off of him?

02:03:09 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 4:

You know what? That's a question I should have asked. How did I not ask it? Did he at least get what he was buying?

02:03:14 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 5:

I got this for an arm and a leg.

02:03:17 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 1:

yep you're on the way into work or you'll have to pretend to care about what the annoying co-worker says if there were no annoying co-workers you might be the well never mind it's mojo in the morning this should be played at high volume mojo in the morning good to have you guys here your home of

02:03:38 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 4:

the war of the roses second date update in the dirty on the 30 megan is about to make a statement that is going to make all of us guys look bad. And I would like to just put a disclaimer out there. She's probably right.

02:03:50 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, it's not my fault.

02:03:52 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so Megan's back from another wedding that she was at and has a rash generalization about men. And I'm guessing it's a not positive one.

02:04:03 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think it's not positive. I think it's just how you view it. I'm not saying this like it's a negative. I don't think it's a negative. Go ahead.

02:04:09 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 4:

You got two men here and countless men that are listening.

02:04:12 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 2:

I hate that you said it up that way because now everybody's going to think that I said this as a negative. I'm just curious as to what it is about weddings that makes men so horny. Oh. I don't understand why all men are trying to find hookups at weddings in a way that is almost like hunting for prey in the world. Makes me horny. It is so aggressive and sometimes kind of sad to look at the single guys at weddings just hopping from girl to girl to girl and just not enjoying themselves at all, but trying to secure the after-party plans the entire wedding.

02:04:53 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 4:

Are you saying it's just men doing this? I get the feeling that women do it, too.

02:04:58 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 2:

I think women are... Opposed to wedding hookups But I have never seen Women Go from single guy to single guy to single guy To single guy and not hang out with their friends Or sit on the dance floor Dancing with the bride and groom Or going to go get drinks Whatever it is, go to eat Whereas guys feel like their only Mission is to find The hookup

02:05:22 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 4:

You know why? Because it happens When there is a a free bar of booze and people all dressed up in sexy outfits, I think that it makes you I don't know

02:05:38 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 3:

See, you're not saying I'm wrong

02:05:39 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't think you're wrong Actually, I don't think that that was a negative on guys, because obviously you admitted to us earlier this morning that you did have a little fun too Okay, we're very excited

02:05:52 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it's a negative I really don't think it's a negative I just don't understand why it's so all-consuming to the guys.

02:06:00 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 3:

This is a bipartisan issue. Finally, we can all agree. This is something you can cross the line on both sides. You are not wrong. I have been to a few weddings in my day. Not a lot, but a few weddings. And for some reason, there is this energy that comes with that plate. And it is a sexual energy. And I'm three for three, especially when it comes for out-of-this-country weddings. There's something about that, too. And the bridesmaids be the ones. Destination weddings make. Bruh, what? Destination weddings? You get a little fun in the sun? You get a little hot?

02:06:34 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I would love. By the way, could you call us up and tell us if you've ever hooked up at a wedding? Tell us the situation. I'd love to hear that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I think there's something that goes into your system where you see some love in the air with the couple and then you start saying, I'd like love too. You know, it's like, Megan, it's like when a pizza is delivered to a group of people that you were not part of, you just want a slice. You want to enjoy a slice.

02:07:09 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 2:

Just a taste? I just want a little taste.

02:07:13 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 4:

Just give me a corner slice. Just give me, like, a small piece.

02:07:17 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 2:

A snack. A snack. Just a snack. Like a little snack.

02:07:20 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the pictures of Megan at this thing? First off, let me just say this to you. Shout out to Megan. Yes. Shout out to Ellen McNally. Big shout out.

02:07:31 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 2:

Ellen is so hot.

02:07:32 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Our former producer, executive producer of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Talk about it. I'm not going to lie to you, but you two girls. Huh? Did you guys have dates at this wedding?

02:07:41 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:07:42 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 4:

So you hooked up. Did Ellen find, did Ellen meet a boy?

02:07:47 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

No, she did not.

02:07:48 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 4:

She did not? Is she dating right now?

02:07:51 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 2:

No, and she's the best friend of the entire world. Because I was like, so what's the plan? When are we going home? What should I do with you over? And she was like, girl, you're making your own plans tonight. I said, I do have. That's that wedding energy. Wow. She's the best. She actually was really the driving force in making poor decisions this weekend. I blame her.

02:08:10 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she egged you on to do it? Oh, absolutely. She was always like that, too. She was always the encourager of everybody's shenanigans.

02:08:19 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Everybody thinks I'm a bad person. Turns out, it's really her.

02:08:22 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 3:

And she lives in Chicago, too, right?

02:08:24 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 2:

She does.

02:08:24 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 3:

So she wanted you to come in town. She felt the need to show you around.

02:08:28 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 2:

She left happy. No, it's not even leaving happy. I think she wants me to get pregnant, so I can't leave.

02:08:33 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. She wants you to win the Chicago guy.

02:08:37 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 2:

She was like, Megan's drunk. Hopefully, this will be unprotected sex, and there will be a baby, and Megan has to stay.

02:08:43 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Jared, are you there?

02:08:46 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:08:47 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Megan thinks that it's just the guys that are horny at weddings. Did we hook up at a wedding?

02:08:52 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 1:

I might disagree with that, but I mean, kind of. So I had gone to my buddy's wedding, and I went to go hook up with one of the bridesmaids. Well, we were dancing out on the floor, and I learned how to do a back handspring when I was younger. So I was going to do one behind the table, so I didn't kick nobody. Oh, he got a trick. One buddy was like, no, my buddy was like, no, do it on the dance floor, do it on the dance floor. And so I went to go do it on the dance floor, and the bride's sister walked through as I was doing it, and I ended up kicking her. And so, like, as an apology, I guess, I don't know, we hooked up that night. As an apology! Oh, my God.

02:09:30 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 4:

I love it. You won.

02:09:31 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

02:09:32 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 4:

That's great. Yeah. You had to. You were a nice guy for doing that, Jared.

02:09:37 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was like, I was like, f*** it. I was like, what's that? Oh, no, no, no. Hold on, I've got to dump that. You can't say that.

02:09:42 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 4:

I've got to dump that, Jared. Now you're no longer a nice guy.

02:09:48 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 2:

We're done with you.

02:09:51 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, in text 95500, this one's 419, says, Megan went to an out-of-town Chicago wedding.

02:10:00 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 7:

Must be something about those. I hooked up in Chicago, too. That might be the thing, too. It might be the, Kevin might be right on the whole out-of-town weddings, although you say it out of the country. You're saying, like, destination weddings in, like, Caribbean islands and stuff?

02:10:13 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that type of vibe. Cancun, Dominican Republic, that type of energy. All-inclusive, drinks are flowing, people are bad. It's these bridesmaids, man, I'm telling you. They see their girl getting married. They get the love bug. They look good. You look good. It happens.

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 7:

Do you think it's the bridesmaids that people are hooking up with? Do you think that's the case? In that case, it was. Really?

02:10:32 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 2:

It's just any single girl. 313. Y'all be on the hunt.

02:10:36 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 7:

313 says... Browlers. Megan's right. Guys are like horny, horndogs at weddings. They are looking to get laid by anybody they can. It all starts when they start line dancing.

02:10:47 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm not even saying it's a bad thing. Oh, Jesus. I'm not, truly, again, not saying it's even a bad thing. It's just funny to me that, like, if you looked at the room, right, there was a point in the evening where i was standing off to the side i was trying to find some bits to film for a social post stuff like that just kind of watching my friends have fun i love watching the people i love have fun and i saw all of the single dudes like women women women ladies where are the ladies and they were just like standing in the corner like must Let's talk girlfriend, lady, sleep with. Yes.

02:11:22 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 7:

I always feel like weddings are like our parties that we throw. When we throw them in hotels, it always leads to hotel sex or something. What's up, Cameron? Who are you talking to, Cameron? Are you talking to yourself or are you talking to – you there, Cameron?

02:11:38 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm here.

02:11:39 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 7:

Hi, buddy. We're talking right now. Megan thinks that it's just the guys that want to hook up at weddings.

02:11:43 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, in my experience, it just depends who's single and who's not and the type of energy they bring.

02:11:51 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Have you ever had it where a girl came on to you to want to have sex, or did you always have to go out and search?

02:12:01 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 4:

So at my friend's wedding, he spent like 50 grand at an open bar, and his sister had tried to get with me, but I got too drunk. Like, I blacked out before we even got back to the house.

02:12:17 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 7:

Wait, that would have been a bad thing, don't you think, to hook up with the groom's sister?

02:12:22 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, he's been my best friend. That would have been my best friend. That'll make it okay.

02:12:27 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 7:

That's like your sister. If he's your best friend, that means that's like your sister. But you're right, though, at a wedding. At a wedding, all bets are off, right?

02:12:37 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't know about that. Yeah, I mean, the tequila definitely blurs the lines a little bit.

02:12:42 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 7:

Well, we all know that tequila makes your clothes come off. We've heard that song before. What's up, baby leg? Jay is on with us right now.

02:12:48 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Jay? How y'all doing? Good morning, good morning.

02:12:51 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 7:

Has that baby leg ever come out at a wedding?

02:12:53 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Oh, yes, it did. But see, I was poor. See, the bride of honor pulled me. You know, I was looking good. I had to pat myself on the back. I mean, it tucks all white like a hay. All right. So apparently she was like that, too. From the time she first, you know, she seen me. So it was what it was. You know what's funny?

02:13:14 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 7:

I wonder the tux shops. I'll have to call my buddy Mike, who used to own President Tuxedos. How many tuxes come back with missing items because guys go to a girl's room or, you know, whatever and end up hooking up after a wedding?

02:13:31 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, yeah. See, they didn't get their tux better. I ain't buying it.

02:13:36 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Some stains can't be removed. Exactly. Some stains cannot be removed.

02:13:41 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 7:

Allie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

02:13:46 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm great. How are you?

02:13:47 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 7:

Fantastic. What's going on?

02:13:49 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 3:

I was the groom's sister, and I did hook up with a groomsman. Oh, Allie. What happened? He looked great. He smelled great. It was a Dominican Republic wedding, and it actually turned into a couple-year situationship.

02:14:08 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? So the next morning when everybody's getting together for breakfast, you showed up with your mom and dad and family with this guy?

02:14:17 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, no. We separated and then re-entered for breakfast.

02:14:22 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, so when did you finally admit to family that you ended up hooking up with one of the guys?

02:14:27 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 1:

About a year after we were done. No, not after you were done. You said it was years-long situationship. Yeah, so like about a year after the situationship had wrapped respectfully. You kept it quiet for that long. I couldn't. Yeah.

02:14:42 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 7:

That's wild. You knew your brother would beat his ass.

02:14:45 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 1:

It was his best friend.

02:14:46 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That life would have been over for him. William, you don't just hook up at weddings. Where else do you hook up at?

02:14:55 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Funerals, birthday parties, wherever there's a gathering. Funerals?

02:15:00 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 3:

It's like a wedding crown. Funeral. Yeah, you know, my cousin, may he rest in peace, passed away. And, you know, he had a few female friends, you know, and, you know.

02:15:13 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 4:

William, aren't you worried it's mostly family when you're there? There's too much risk involved.

02:15:18 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. It was my cousin's funeral, and he had, you know, he had a few little friends, you know, extra female friends you know they were all sobbing and everything and i had to console

02:15:31 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 1:

you are a bad man you're going to hell my friend that's horrible that's called taking advantage of

02:15:39 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 3:

a person in their weak moments well see it was me i have five brothers and we all were there

02:15:47 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 1:

you know we were there to console the women oh my god that's awful i mean even i wouldn't do something like that that's horrible uh britney what's up britney hey um so i actually used to

02:15:59 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 4:

work at president tuxedo i'm actually um long-time listener first time hey there yeah britney on the phone three-piece beat so it like it was insane what they used to bring in um glasses expensive glasses watches and we it would like be dreadful when we used to open the bag um you'd never know

02:16:24 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 1:

what it would smell like it was it was horrible oh my god so they would return the tuxedos with remnants of the entire night and sometimes forget that they left their watches and other things

02:16:36 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 4:

inside the bag it was it was insane and it was just like what is it gonna smell like today is Is it going to smell like a pile of cologne or just a pile of musk?

02:16:46 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 1:

It smells like a hoe. That's what it smells like.

02:16:49 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Okay. Okay. My grandma always says, you smell like a fresh whore.

02:16:55 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 1:

Wait, she didn't say that to you, did she?

02:16:58 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 4:

She says. She would say that to my grandpa.

02:17:01 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 1:

I think my grandma used to tell my grandpa, hey, go out and take the garbage out. I don't know. He never said that. That's crazy. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:22 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:17:24 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 1:

Live. Mojo in the Morning Show. Went and picked Chelsea up a little Taco Bell as I was leaving the radio station yesterday. And I saw something kind of crazy on my way into the Taco Bell drive-thru. I did my order, and I got up there to the drive-thru, and the guy's voice did not match the hickey that was on his neck. No. Guy was probably about, I don't know, got to be late 20s. I mean, he was, you know, young but not like teenage young, and he had a big old freaking hickey, literally the size of some mouth on his neck, and I hadn't seen one in such a long time that at first I thought to myself, I think it might be a birthmark. And then I realized, I don't think that's a birthmark. I think that's a hickey. And I started thinking to myself, and I even got to a point where the guy was talking to me through the window, and I had the thinking thing going above my head. I'm like, oh, I'm sorry. Oh, yeah, hold on. Okay, yeah, I hear you. He's grabbing, like, giving me my drink and stuff. I don't think I've ever seen a hickey since I was probably, like, I don't know, like in high school or something. People are still giving hickeys? I thought the hickeys went out, like, a long time ago when smartphones came into play. Smartphones. Apparently it was crazy.

02:18:44 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 2:

I think when you were younger, I think some of it was a marking of a territory. I think a little bit also was you wanted that person to think of you when they looked in the mirror or somebody pissed. I mean, back in the day. But, I mean, if you get caught up in the moment and that's one of the things that happens, I don't think it's, like, intentional. Like, you're trying to make a hickey. I never thought that hickeys were intentional.

02:19:09 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 3:

I just thought it was like you were doing your thing and that happened and then that was the result.

02:19:13 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 1:

I think they're intentional, like Kev just said. I think they're intentionally, like you said, leaving a mark. That was always a girl's way or a guy's way of saying that you are in a relationship or you're with somebody. That's how I always got it.

02:19:28 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 2:

I think it can go both ways. I think sometimes you can get so caught up in the act that that's one of the things that's happening and you don't yeah intentionally mean to do it but you look up and like damn what's that on my neck but then there are those other moments where you say nah anybody goes around

02:19:43 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

they're gonna know that you know she's used to hate getting hickey i would i've only had like maybe two hickeys in my entire life and each time that i got a hickey i was like damn and it kind of hurt but you know you get caught up in it and honestly the

02:19:59 - 02:20:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:20:00 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

girls were way out of my league so I was like oh okay but can I also also I have fat neck too so my problem is also is that it's easy to hickey a fat neck where if I was a slender you know if I had a slim like chiseled Ryan Reynolds kind of a face it'd be hard to give a hickey on one of those things I was having a conversation with a guy yesterday I was talking to him and I said to him I go, hey, I saw this guy at Taco Bell with a hickey and it got me thinking, you know, you know, when's the last time you got a hickey? I'm going to talk about this in the air. And he goes, hickeys no longer are neck hickeys. There are people that get hickeys in other spots of their body. He said one of the big things now are people that do thigh hickeys. Thigh hickeys. Yeah, like where girls will give a guy hickeys leading up to their private parts on their thighs. Oh, a little breadcrumb. It's almost kind of like, you know how sometimes in people's backyards they have stones that are step stones that go to the backyard? It's a pathway to destiny. It's kind of like the step stones that go and lead from your back deck all the way to your rose garden or something. I feel like that would hurt right there. I don't know. On the thigh? Like, up that way. Yeah. I don't know. I would be mad. I don't want you to do that, please. I would be pissed off. Well, especially. You waste your time. Well, no, no, no. No, they eventually get to their destination. Yeah. That doesn't sound pleasurable, though.

02:21:33 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 2:

That's what I said. Yeah.

02:21:34 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't sound like pleasure. But no, no. The thing now, too, is you can't. If you're doing it there because you're trying to cover up your hickey by doing it on thigh, Guys are wearing now the shortest shorts I've ever seen. Yeah, hoochie daddies. I am all for the short shorts. You like shorts? Thank you. Yep. Three inch. Come on. Okay. No, three inch. Three inch is a hootie shirt. You're trying to see a ball. What's going on? I wear nine inches, and I was told by Joe, my son Joe from the Joe Show, he told me, he goes, Dad, you're wearing dad shorts. He goes, you got to at least have sevens on.

02:22:07 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, it's the fives that I like. I'm getting confused with Lucy's lacrosse shorts. Those are three guys.

02:22:14 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 3:

Wes and Lucy can not have the same length of shorts. That cannot happen. By the way, I don't even think that you could get a guy's shorts in three. No, but you can get fives. You can get fives. Yeah, I think there's fives, seven, and nines.

02:22:26 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:22:26 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 3:

And then there's twelves, you know. Random twelves. Then there's the guys that have twelves with, like, 28 pockets and stuff, too. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Princess is on with us right now. What's up, Princess?

02:22:39 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 1:

us? I just wanted to say that I'm out dating. I have to tell men not to mark me. I don't like hickeys at all. I feel like it's a form of branding. Don't brand me. I'm not yours

02:22:54 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 3:

yet. Wait. So guys want to do this to mark you. You're right. It is. You're right. It's a branding method. It is. Have you ever had a guy give you a non-circular hickey like a hickey that looked like it was i don't know the shape of montana no i guys and when guys give hickeys are they biting too so are they also adding to it besides just the the sucking gotta

02:23:26 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 1:

bite a little no usually it's just the sucking and when i feel like it's getting like a little hot and heavy that's when i'll say please don't mark it yeah smack them right in the face give

02:23:35 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 3:

a big old smack okay yeah say that one's from mojo mojo said smack you what's going on craig how you doing hey how's it going mojo good buddy we're talking about hickeys you're not a hickey

02:23:48 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 2:

guy are you yeah yeah um so my fiance is anemic and uh i give her hickeys not on purpose you're in the heat of the moment making cookies and sometimes you just you know it happens but But I also wanted to add in that, you know, it's not always on purpose, and I'm from your area. I don't know if you remember Eddie and Jobo.

02:24:21 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're a Chicago guy. Eddie and Jobo from B96. I grew up with those guys. I love those guys.

02:24:27 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm from that area. I'm from Gary, actually.

02:24:32 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 3:

You gave Eddie and Jobo a hickey? I was like, where does the Eddie and Jobo come into play here? But they were the big morning show that, uh, they were the, they were the mojo in the morning of, uh, of Chicago, which was great. Yeah. Um, Holly, let's go to Holly here. Holly, you there?

02:24:52 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm here. What's going on, Holly? Um, I always said like in high school. Yeah, definitely.

02:25:00 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 5:

they are purposely given but as adults they are i always say neck up are trashy neck down are classy because you don't see that i don't know if any hickey is by the way do you like what about

02:25:17 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 3:

02:25:22 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 5:

boobs um i've had them it doesn't bother me because um you can't see them okay do you have large breasts uh they're not super large but i mean they're a handful they're a handful

02:25:38 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

because shannon how would you feel if west gave you a hickey on on your uh your boots it's just

02:25:45 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 2:

like a really interesting conversation to be having with our big big boss in the studio I am so highly uncomfortable. I would normally answer that question, but I'm not going to right now. Answer the question, please. Okay, so I don't think he would, nor would I care there, but I'm not, like, I would rather... Oh, God. I would rather a nibble there than a hickey.

02:26:13 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, just nibble on it. All right. Don't eat it all.

02:26:17 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 2:

Please let me keep my job, Colleen. Safe for another day.

02:26:23 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 3:

B wants to be voice disguised. B, what's happening?

02:26:28 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Hi. So my comment is I am 56. He is 43. The whole underside of my sweater puppies are completely covered. And it's been two weeks, and he re-upped them last night. And, I mean, it's not just sucking. It's biting, too. I have to stop him.

02:26:47 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 2:

Did you say he re-ups them?

02:26:49 - 02:26:50 | Unknown:

Mm-hmm. Yes.

02:26:51 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 1:

I was like, knock it off.

02:26:53 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:26:54 - 02:26:55 | Unknown:

Knock it off.

02:26:56 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Dee, is this a new relationship? This has to be a new relationship.

02:27:01 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 1:

No. It's been going on for eight years. No. Oh, my God. Wow.

02:27:05 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 3:

This is what happens when you are a cougar and you're dating younger.

02:27:11 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, whatever.

02:27:12 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Sarah says that she's got a co-worker you have a co-worker that's into hickies

02:27:21 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 6:

yeah well I have two younger co-workers they're 19 and 20 years old so both males and every day it seems like they come back with like a hickey the next morning and I'm like and they're huge they're they one of them doesn't hide it as often they are very proud when we call them out on it The other one kind of wants to cover it and gets embarrassed when we call him out. But we're like, what is going on with these hickeys? Like, I'm, you know, I'm 41. So I'm like, I didn't get a hickey last since high school, you know?

02:27:55 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 3:

That's what I thought, too. I swear to you, I thought it was just a high school thing.

02:27:58 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 6:

It's a new big thing, I guess. It's a new trend, I guess. Bring it back.

02:28:02 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's coming back. It's coming back like those wide leg pants that all the girls are wearing nowadays. Julia, what's happening?

02:28:12 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 7:

Hi, everybody. First time, long time. Yeah. Julia's on the phone. Like the last caller said, I wonder if she's talking about my roommate because my brother's boyfriend, or sorry, my boyfriend's brother lives with us. We just bought a house last year, and he's kind of seeing a girl but will always stay the night at her house and comes home every morning and has a different one on his neck. And I don't know what his coworkers even think because he's a parapro at a school. So, all real kids all day. That's crazy.

02:28:44 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That would be Mr. So-and-so is coming in with hickeys all the time. The kids are like, what's that? That's crazy.

02:28:51 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 7:

Exactly, I know.

02:28:52 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, thank you for the call. Ebony loves giving hickeys. How old are you, Ebony?

02:28:58 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I am 35 years old. 35 and you're still giving hickeys? You're too old for that. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, so I'm a lesbian. So, it's a big thing in my kind of world that, you know, giving hickeys on a thigh is a big thing. Oh, really? It's like a pleasure. It's like a pleasure for that female to feel.

02:29:24 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:29:25 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 4:

Wow. So, okay. So, thigh hickeys. Thigh hickeys actually.

02:29:30 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 5:

That's a hand.

02:29:32 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 3:

Wait, who is that? Is that your girl with you?

02:29:35 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 4:

I love to give them. It's not like me giving a mark. is more of when it happens, it happens.

02:29:42 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 3:

Question, should Shannon's husband do a thigh hickey on her to see if she can feel it in the privates?

02:29:50 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, try it out.

02:29:52 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

You got to try new things out. Why just keep it plain and simple? You know what? We don't keep it plain and simple, but that's not necessarily on my list.

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, look, try this, have Wes do this, and then Monday, come back and report to us on what happened.

02:30:06 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, I have homework.

02:30:07 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 3:

All right. You can talk to Ebony offline for tips and tricks.

02:30:11 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Ebony, by the way. Yeah, you can get a lot of tricks from me. I can teach your husband some things and teach you both some things in a bit. That's the T and C's. It's pretty fun. You got to have fun in it.

02:30:22 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, we'll talk to you. Ebony, what's your girl's name?

02:30:26 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 2:

I'd rather not say right now. Oh, okay. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know if she's listening.

02:30:33 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. Well, you take care of yourself.

02:30:35 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 2:

And I also forgot to say first time long time. Yeah. And then he's on the phone.

02:30:39 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 4:

We love you.

02:30:40 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 2:

Hicky hotlar. Guys, have a good morning.

02:30:42 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 4:

We'll talk to you later.

02:30:44 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning reminds you that if you really show a lot of love to the crazy chick at work, it'll drive her insane. There's public service from Mojo in the Morning.

02:30:53 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 2:

Channel 955. Now back to Mojo in the Morning.

02:30:59 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 4:

Back to Mojo in the morning. Is this, Kevin, a friend or is it you? Because sometimes when a story comes up on the radio where Kev will say, I have a friend, I know he has no friends.

02:31:18 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

No, this is me, though. I can't even dodge this one. This is me.

02:31:21 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But if it was, I have a friend, it would be because it would be an embarrassing situation. Is that what we're saying?

02:31:27 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, I think I've only used that maybe once on this show. Other times, you know, I try to stay true.

02:31:34 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 4:

You know what I can tell? When you smile those pearly, beautiful teeth of yours.

02:31:38 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate you. I got an appointment. I'm so glad you said that. I got to see Dr. Reynolds today. But, yeah, man, I might need a lawyer, too, because I almost talked to a minor. I'm in Target yesterday. I had to grab a battery because my key fob was about to die. and i grabbed the battery grab some other things because you just can't go into target and grab one thing i get to the self-checkout hit my little boot boot and when i boot the uh the battery a little message come up on the screen like it basically need assistance i'll see this pretty little light-skinned thing come on i'm like oh okay she got these long fingernails with and they're not like stupid long where they like curling but they're longer than the average bear and Not only are they long, but they're extremely designed. Like, she got, like, gold rectangle ridges. It's nice, beautiful emerald green. He's, like, describing every bit of her. I'm telling you, because remember, I'm at the self-checkout and the notification pop-up. So she has to tap the screen to get to whatever areas she need to get to to put her coat in to remove what she needs to remove.

02:32:48 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 4:

Are they so long that when she's tapping, you hear?

02:32:50 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You can hear the tap. The clicking back. Yeah, you can hear it. But I'm so mesmerized by the wicked, you know, golden greenness she got going on. So I'm like, okay, man, those are some nice nails. I know it's none of my business, but those prevent you from doing certain things. And she's like, no, they don't care. I'm like, oh, those are nice. I'm like, you always get them that long? She's like, no, I don't usually get them this long. I got them this long for a special occasion. What was going on? She's like, it was homecoming. I was like, I said, what? Wait, what? I said, what?

02:33:26 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 1:

I can see your face in this moment.

02:33:29 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 3:

I said, what? Now, in my... You... You... You...

02:33:38 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 1:

You see, cause... Cause... You understand what I'm saying. For real. Homecoming?

02:33:45 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. So, in my mind, I'm like, okay, there are a lot of people recently that have posted, like, Collegiate homecoming, like, reunion-like. Yeah. You know what I mean? The booty cheeks are out there. Yes. The booty cheeks. Them little bubble skirts. The Ruffle Shorts. Yes, yes, dog. It's a lot of that type college homecoming stuff. So in my mind, I'm like, okay, what school? She's like, North Farmington? I was like, okay. Just ring me up. I think we're good. Play a Diddy song. Please don't. I think we're good. Oh, my God. Thank you so much for your assistance.

02:34:18 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 4:

Play a Diddy song. Oh, I'm telling you. I'm playing Diddy's songs, I was just saying. Oh, my gosh. You know what, though? I mean, it's an honest mistake. All you did was compliment her fingernails.

02:34:31 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and once you realized her age, you, you know, backed away.

02:34:35 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, none of that. You're not going no further. No, sir, not me.

02:34:40 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's craziness. You know what's weird, though? I don't know if you ever think about this. It's weird to think that in a few years from now, when she is over the age of 18 or whatever, who knows how old she is, that technically you could date.

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 6:

a girl that age but yet it still is just as weird like i don't know you can get hired at target while

02:35:06 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 5:

you're in high school i didn't even like that didn't even i didn't even consider that and be a manager i thought you could be i thought you had to be at least 18 to be working at target

02:35:15 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 6:

no you're 16 years old i had no some kids are 14 years old working i feel like there are some

02:35:21 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 5:

businesses where that's okay i feel like target you should be 18 yeah no i i don't know i feel

02:35:27 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 4:

Look, Target, you should be like 60 plus because they're always the nicest when I'm checking out.

02:35:33 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 6:

I think nowadays you're seeing kids that work really, really young.

02:35:37 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 5:

Like she was in there running the spot. Like she had to come over and put a coat in to make sure my stuff was right.

02:35:42 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 6:

This is why I'm glad I don't have a daughter. Like I'm telling you, I'm so glad I don't have a daughter because, you know, you see, first off, do girls look like this when we were younger?

02:35:53 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 4:

So I was going to make this comment. Lucy is obviously, she's 10 and a half years old, but she is, and she's my daughter, so of course I'm going to say this, but she is like beautiful and trendy and she can curl her hair. And like I, every once in a while I'll let her put on like a little bit of this milk blush that she conned me into buying her at Sephora. You know, when I was in fifth grade, I looked like an ogre. Like I wore silk shirts from JCPenney and I had the Ringo Starr haircut. It was still a bowl cut.

02:36:21 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 3:

It's not the same. But we're missing the thing that determined a child. And that was the Bath and Body Works Roll-On Glitter. Yeah. And if you were wearing that, that was your scent. You knew you were 14. Shout out to Plumeria.

02:36:36 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 4:

That was the best one.

02:36:38 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 1:

As a kid, as a wife, as a book.

02:36:42 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you, I do think if I had a daughter, I would have my daughter like literally with a sign on that says I'm 15 years old or whatever. the deal is put her in karate you know what i mean oh i wish i could have been a fly on the wall for this although can i tell you something though like the boy like luke gets this so so my son luke now luke is obviously he's a he's in college now but when he was in high school we would post a picture of luke and there would be women that would go oh my god look at this and i would be going i'm jealous what about his dad but it's weird though isn't it it's it's it's I don't know. It's crazy. Kevin, Kevin, Kevin. No, I got my battery and I got the hell on. Good luck in chemistry tomorrow. I like Kevin's comment where he goes, you can be 18 years old and work there and not like.

02:37:38 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know that. I didn't know that. That seems super young. I feel like Target is like a, I don't know. I just don't see it as a place for a young age.

02:37:45 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 4:

What if you're cashing out with alcohol? Are they allowed to cash you out if you're buying? Like if I'm buying, you know. I'd have to be 19 to serve alcohol. I'm not sure what it is to sell.

02:37:53 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 3:

You don't even have to be 21 to serve? I was in the United States, but I was never a server. You have to be 21 to poor, 19 to serve. At least in Ohio.

02:38:02 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 6:

Call us up and tell us what the laws are, if you know the law wherever you are right now. Michigan, Ohio, 844-MOJO-LIVE. So to work, can you be 14 or 13? What's the law?

02:38:16 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 5:

I used to be 14 with a permit back in the day.

02:38:19 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 4:

It was 14 and a half, I think. I think it's younger

02:38:23 - 02:38:25 | Speaker 3:

It was super specific

02:38:25 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 6:

I remember

02:38:26 - 02:38:29 | Speaker 3:

But then there's different rules for family businesses too

02:38:29 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 6:

Hold on, Jen Jen, are you there? Jen, what's going on?

02:38:34 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 2:

So my 13 year old Has the same size boobs As my 19 year old She is in a D cup I'm an ape She has the butt to match And like Twerking is like her favorite thing I don't know what to do about it. It's TikTok.

02:38:52 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. Yeah, these kids are growing up way too fast these days. Question, how old can your kids be to work? We're trying to figure that out.

02:39:00 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 5:

It says the minimum age to work in Michigan is 14 years old, but it has some exceptions. Caddying, you can be 11 years old. That's the youngest that I'm seeing, and then it goes from there.

02:39:11 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 6:

Okay. All right. What's up? Is it Risa or Ressa?

02:39:17 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 1:

It's Risa, R-E-S-A. Hi, Risa.

02:39:19 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Risa?

02:39:21 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 1:

What up, though? So anyway, because I buy plenty, plenty, plenty of alcohol at Target, Kroger, Walmart, you name it. If they are under 21, they have to physically call someone over that is over 21 to enter your information. They cannot do it at all.

02:39:41 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Okay, so if they're working, if that girl was the only person working the customer service counter, she has to find another person older to come over then?

02:39:50 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 1:

That's correct. She has to find someone that is 21 or older to enter your identification. They cannot do it.

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 6:

Okay, thank you for the call.

02:40:00 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 1:

It's like I thought you were not able to walk alcohol out the store unless you were 21. I've seen plenty of people have their kids well under 21 push the basket out of the store. I thought that was a thing in Michigan, but apparently I'm wrong.

02:40:15 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 7:

I door dashed booze to my house recently. Can you door dash the booze or no? You have to be 21 to door dash.

02:40:21 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. So I used to door dash for like two years, and sometimes that's all they had me do all day with alcohol orders. You have to be 21 to do that as well.

02:40:31 - 02:40:32 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:40:33 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 7:

Desiree Rhee. Hello. Yes. Hi. I was trying to bow. Yeah.

02:40:39 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 5:

So, yes, I just have the state in actually at the bar in Michigan, and I have some several. I have one that's 17 years old, and I have a 19-year-old that does serve, and that is illegal by the state. Whitmore just put that in place due to the fact that the low staff.

02:40:57 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 7:

You could be 17 years old and working behind a bar at a place, huh?

02:41:04 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes, but the 17-year-old has to have an 18-year-old in the place at all times. Is that in Michigan? Yes, that's in Michigan.

02:41:11 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 6:

And how many times do you, like, pour something and spill a little bit on your thumb and go?

02:41:17 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 5:

I don't ever do that, no. Come on, man, we all do that.

02:41:21 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 4:

It's so interesting how different the laws are. No, I'm actually not a big drinker.

02:41:25 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 7:

They do it with a straw. You ever do that, see them, when they do that with a straw? Where they stick the straw in there, they suck the, you know, take the end, and they taste it with the straw.

02:41:33 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I probably have seen that, but I've never done that myself.

02:41:37 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 7:

How many times have you had an older guy hitting on you?

02:41:42 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm over 21, but yes, I have had an older guy, and I have also had them hit on my employees that are 17 to 19, yes. So, Desiree, they do let the people know right away that they are 17 and 19 immediately.

02:41:57 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 4:

Desiree, how old do you have to be to pour in Michigan?

02:42:00 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 7:

17.

02:42:01 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 5:

You can be 17. Isn't that crazy?

02:42:03 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 4:

That is wild. In Ohio, it's 21 to pour, 19 to serve, and then 16 to be behind the bar working. 17 to be behind the bar to work. You can be 16 and bar back. Oh, maybe you can. In Ohio. I'm only talking from Ohio experience.

02:42:20 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 7:

How old can you be to strip? That's all we want. Oh, God. What's the stripper? Can you imagine if they allowed 17? It's like, are you kidding? That's crazy. All right.

02:42:31 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 6:

What do those nails look like again? You described them to. Nope. Didn't see it. Don't know what's going on. You got to be 18 to strip in Michigan.

02:42:38 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 7:

You know, Kev. Hey, Kev knows. He always dresses classy. He's sometimes sassy and secretly smart-assy. This is Mojo in the Morning. back to mojo in the morning secret was revealed yesterday to her husband actually i'm surprised

02:42:57 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 2:

that he didn't know this okay i was gonna tell you something yeah because i know he listens to the show and i feel like i've talked about this on the show i mean i'm i i have very little shame anymore yesterday he was putting a bunch of his stuff in the bathroom drawers and all of a sudden And I hear him call out, Shan, what is this? And so I run upstairs. I walk into the bathroom. And I see him holding this little pink device.

02:43:28 - 02:43:28 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:43:30 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 7:

How this thing just took a turn off the off-ramp.

02:43:34 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 2:

It was not a vibrator. It was not a vibrator. Although it does vibrate. But it was my little finishing touch razor. Have you ever heard of these things? Yeah, I love mine. Yes! I've been using it for years. so I very casually said to him oh that's what I used to shave my mustache he looked at me with the most horrified look on his face because apparently he had no idea one that I have a mustache which is true and two that you gotta shave it like every couple of days can I make

02:44:04 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 3:

sure there's no fuzz there can I tell you something controversial yet brave what I think every woman has a mustache some of y'all just have mustache blindness and if you're sitting in your car right

02:44:13 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 2:

now and you're thinking not me pull down that mirror yeah yeah it'll give you a real close-up view of it um but he just he didn't know until now he's moved in and you know all my stuff is

02:44:25 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 7:

out for him to see and he saw that and was just like who did i make um i love this as a topic because that obviously would be an interesting find to find out that you know you you're uh dating somebody that has a mustache, but not as interesting as some of the other ones that I'm sure people will have. What did you find out about the person that you're in a relationship with well into being in a relationship? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500. It could be anything from something.

02:45:00 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 5:

that happened in their past or something that's going on in their present i always hear the stories about people don't realize how much debt they're in you know that's like one of the ones that i'll hear these stories about well after they've been with them for a long period of time and they've been hiding that um that is uh you know what's funny you should not be ashamed of

02:45:18 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 7:

that i i mean hair is in you keep it tight though i keep it i keep it tight do you ever I am too scared to get it. I have had laser hair removal on everywhere in my body. I'm so scared to do it on my face or else I would and just get rid of it, like knock it out.

02:45:36 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 4:

But it used to be some old ladies at church who just let their mustache go. And that is not for me. There are some men out there or if you like to kiss a woman's lip, you like to feel a little, a little tickle. I'm glad you shave it. Sherelle, she got to, she got to watch out too. She's hairy, you little lady.

02:45:55 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 5:

You better watch yourself. Does she take care of it?

02:45:58 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 7:

See, I can't get waxed because I'm allergic to something in the wax. I had a bad reaction one time.

02:46:03 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 5:

Question for you, Kevin. Me? What would you rather? Would you rather hair above the lip or hair on their toes? Because I have hairy toes for women. I have to take care of that, too. When I see a bunch of hair on the toes and they look like they got like...

02:46:19 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 4:

That's an easy laser, though. A third one, I remember back when I used to intern at JLB, I remember I had this intern, Amanda. Shout out to Amanda. She's still in these streets. Love Amanda. We were walking downtown because we used to be in the Penobscot building. We were walking downtown, and it was so windy. And for some reason, I look over, and she had, like, this curly hair in the middle of her chest.

02:46:45 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 6:

I'm never forgetting. Okay, wait. It was waving in the wind. I just looked at her like, ah. Poor girl, first of all. Do you guys have that one random hair somewhere on your body that, like, just seems to show up overnight? And it's like all on my right cheek. Cheek on my face, cheek. I have one on my ear, and it's like, not there, not there, not there, not there. All of a sudden, it's like, where did that pop up? Four inches. What happened? All the hair just branded together. We're going to pop up this wall. Boom. Did I accidentally get that in my curling iron? What happened?

02:47:19 - 02:47:29 | Speaker 5:

My nose hairs are excessively growing right now. I go to get them waxed, and within a week and a half of waxing them, they'll come right back. No. Yeah. Courtney, what's going on?

02:47:29 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 8:

He waxed nose hairs. Hey, good morning.

02:47:31 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 5:

Hi. What's happening? What did you learn?

02:47:34 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 8:

Well, my boyfriend and I have lived together for a long time, and a couple of years back, it's something he learned about me. So one morning, I was getting ready for work, and I used Summer's Eve spray on the Christmas, And I hadn't told him because obviously I'm not going to, you know, come home from the store and go, look what I got. So anyway, I spray it before work, come out into the kitchen, give him a kiss, getting ready to leave. And he's like, wow, you smell really good. Is that new perfume? And I didn't have the guts to tell him at the time because it was like 7 o'clock in the morning. And I'm just like, oh, thanks. Yeah. You know, obviously, eventually I told him. But I'm like, yeah, that's just my summer deep spray. But glad you like it. A win is a win.

02:48:14 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 5:

Todd, what did you learn?

02:48:17 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 1:

I learned that my ex used to sleep with a long-handled screwdriver underneath a mattress. Oh, my God. Wait, what?

02:48:25 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 5:

Like, as a weapon?

02:48:27 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, in case anyone broke in.

02:48:29 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 5:

Okay, yeah, it wasn't anything kinky. Oh. Yeah, it was... No, no, no. Not with the screwdriver. Kim, what did you find out about your fiancé?

02:48:41 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 2:

So, he has apparently a butt chin. So, we had a baby about four months ago. And it was clearly born with a butt chin. And my fiance's never shaved his face around me. So I found out. That's how I found out he had a butt chin. Oh, my God, Kim. Oh, no.

02:49:02 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 5:

Here are a couple ones that are more dramatic than a butt chin. I found out 734 that my ex was a crossdresser. I found out that a man took my boyfriend's virginity.

02:49:18 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 4:

You got to call in, bro.

02:49:19 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 5:

Wow. And then Charlie, what did you find out about your significant other?

02:49:25 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 3:

She was an alcoholic.

02:49:27 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. And you didn't realize that while you guys were dating?

02:49:31 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 3:

No, not at all. Not until, you know, I mean, you get the signs eventually. And then, yeah, no, it just went downhill afterwards.

02:49:42 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 5:

Wow. That's, you know, that's too bad. Was she able to get help?

02:49:49 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 3:

Sort of with probation, but then she violated. And, yeah, she's on it again.

02:49:56 - 02:50:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. Well, that's sad. We got to pray for her. All right. morning show find us on facebook we're mojo in the morning on twitter and ig this is mojo in the

02:50:07 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 1:

morning uh this is a funny topic because and i want to solicit for it before shannon tells us the story but um what is the craziest thing that you have ever procedure you've ever had done to and you did it at somebody's house because Wes had something happen. Shannon's husband had something happen to him. Where does he go?

02:50:34 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 5:

He, no shame, gets a little Botox here and there every now and again. Brotox, I guess, is what you call it for guys, right? I love that. Gets a little Brotox and he goes to somebody's house to get his Botox done. Facement Botox? Yes! And I just think it is the funniest thing ever. Now, mind you, it's legit. The guy is a dermatologist and a friend of ours. But at the same time, it's just so funny that if somebody asks him where he goes, he can't say. Like, he can't be like, oh, I go to this house over on, you know, whatever the address is. but i know that there are so many people who get like massages or their eyebrows done or eyelashes done or hair done in somebody's basement legitimately quick question yeah did this doctor have an office prior he does have an office oh but it's just more convenient to go to go home and he can do it at any time you know like work around anybody i've best of schedule

02:51:39 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 1:

whatever so yeah dr warner gave me stitches on my couch oh when the when the trunk door opened yeah i had i cracked my cracked my head open and dr warner had me lay on my couch and came over and literally a needle and thread and did it right there the funniest was uh that uh luke had friends over and they were mortified what is going they were like you're crazy about that Um, I think that that's, uh, that's cool that we, so when you usually, you want his number? Yeah. Yeah. Give me, give me some before the night out. Um, 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. But I also like, I like the people that do it. Like you said that he's legit. I like the illegit people. That's what I want to know. I want the back alley, back, back room. I want the people that I can go to. Yeah.

02:52:30 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 5:

In their bathroom.

02:52:31 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 1:

You made your certification on Canva. Those are the people I want. 844 Mojo Live I want to know I want to know and you can text us and we're going to give us some time I'm going to let this breathe a little bit before we get into anything else on the show because I know that there's some people that worry that oh shoot if I do this I'll tell on somebody we can voice this guys just don't say names okay or cities or places like that what's going on it's Mojo in the morning hi

02:53:03 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 3:

hi

02:53:05 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 1:

How are you? What did you get done in somebody's house?

02:53:09 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 3:

A tattoo. Oh, did you really? You really did. Yeah, but I was drinking and it was a fat needle. It's supposed to say face, but it looks like a blob.

02:53:25 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 1:

Who is the butt? You guys were drinking while you decided to get a tattoo?

02:53:30 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was a tattoo party around in my neighborhood. Am I on the radio right now? Yes, you are.

02:53:39 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 1:

That's you.

02:53:41 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I can't hear me because I'm on my phone. Yeah, you're not supposed to. It's going to mess you up anyway.

02:53:46 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 1:

By the way, this is exactly how it started. Next thing you know, you got a tattoo on your ass. Are they using clean needles?

02:53:55 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 4:

I have so many questions.

02:53:58 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 1:

Stephanie, what's going on? Hi.

02:54:00 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you?

02:54:01 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 1:

Good. What did you do at somebody's house?

02:54:04 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 4:

I had my belly button pierced in my friend's apartment kitchen.

02:54:08 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 1:

Hell yeah. Back to the stove. Hell yeah. Did you lay on the table or where did you go? Countertop? Island?

02:54:16 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yeah. Laid on the island. And her dad actually worked at like a tattoo piercing shop. Yeah. So she like brought home the kit or whatever, but we were just hanging out and she was like, let's do it. And I was like, okay.

02:54:28 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 1:

Quick question. Did they have to move, like, the centerpiece or the, you know, the fruit bowl off of the thing?

02:54:35 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 4:

The big basket of fruit. Yes.

02:54:38 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 1:

And there you go. You got yourself a piercing. What's going on, Lindsay? How you doing?

02:54:43 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey. What's up? I've never heard anything as crazy as this. A co-worker of mine, we work for a Catholic organization, so vasectomies weren't covered by insurance. So the urologist showed up to his house.

02:55:00 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 4:

on the kitchen island and did his vasectomy.

02:55:02 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

Come on. No. Guy got a vasectomy on his kitchen island.

02:55:07 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 4:

Yes, and we will not go over there for potlucks.

02:55:12 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, that would be fantastic right afterwards if all of a sudden they lay the food out on the table. Here's a Jets pizza.

02:55:21 - 02:55:22 | Unknown:

I don't know if I can. Man.

02:55:23 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 3:

I wonder what would have happened if there was a complication. What do you do? Nikki, what's going on? Hi. Hello. Hey, what's up?

02:55:30 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 4:

I had my baby. What? At a house? Unexpectedly, yes. I was having my baby shower, and I wasn't due for two weeks. It was during your baby shower? And I just said, well, I'm staying here.

02:55:46 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:55:47 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait, wait. Why? Because it was my third, and basically my midwife was already there. So we said, okay, well, let's just do it here. And then two hours later, he was born. Oh, my gosh. You are brave.

02:56:02 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. Were you able to eat the desserts from the baby shower?

02:56:08 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 4:

And open a gift or two.

02:56:09 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 3:

Voices, guys, is this Ashley? Good morning. Good morning, Ashley. We're talking about getting a medical procedure done at someone's house. What did you get done?

02:56:21 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So I also get my Botox in the basement by a physician who went to prison for insurance fraud. So now he does Botox on the side because he can't practice medicine anymore.

02:56:35 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Wait, I know that's cheap as hell. Can you pass that info? But if you're skilled at it, you're skilled at it.

02:56:43 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I feel guilty, but my skin looks great, and it's really cheap.

02:56:47 - 02:57:00 | Speaker 3:

when you go into the basement though do you ever feel like it's dirty and it's going to be rated by the like it's a Thai massage place or something I do feel a little uneasy but now that I know

02:57:00 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 2:

and now that I don't know my skin looks good I'm okay yeah that's great all right well thank you

02:57:05 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 3:

for the call take care of yourself oh my god Katrina voices guys also uh what do you get

02:57:12 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 1:

done in somebody's basement good morning i get my hoo-ha waxed in the basement really do ya

02:57:21 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 3:

vagina you get it so yes is this somebody's house that's a friend or is it an actual legit business

02:57:29 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 1:

they're running no i actually met her through a friend of a friend so the first time i met her i was bare naked in her basement and for the longest time her kids didn't know what she did so she was just having all these random people come over not knowing so her kids didn't know that there was what was going on in the basement

02:57:48 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 3:

so when you would leave the house the kids are like playing upstairs

02:57:52 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 1:

yes or outside in front of her house and I'm like you did not know what I was here for

02:57:57 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 3:

but you're walking bow legged at least for a second thank you for the call appreciate it

02:58:05 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

thank you bye

02:58:10 - 03:00:48 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 we are going to call this uh background check on your selfies okay on your sexy selfies this uh story comes to me from a guy that I golf with, having a conversation with him who is in the dating game right now and was telling me about this girl that he is dating who sends him bed selfies all the time. Bed selfies are kind of hot selfies, right? A selfie of you just hanging in your bed, right? Everybody's bed is kind of, unless you got a dirty bed or a bad bed, or unless you're this girl. She was posing in her underwear, looking all sexy, but before that she checked the picture to make sure that everything looked okay, or maybe she did check it and didn't realize this, she sent it to him, and there was something bad in it. In the corner, you can see in the mirror her eight-month or nine-month or 12-month-old baby. He couldn't tell me, which is kind of wild. The guy's dating somebody. He's dating a girl, and he goes, yeah, I don't know how old her kid. is he I know she's like the kids a baby's like maybe one and uh you can see the kid laying on the bed so he shows us this picture and you see her and she's clothed and she's not you know uh naked but she's in bed and she's kind of looking all kind of cute you see in the mirror that is there right in the background you see the baby just kind of like sitting there in the background looking like hey mom play with me you know Bye-bye. Or, yeah, let me suck on the nipple. Yes. The nipple. Isn't that what kids say? Isn't that what kids want? My children never said that. They've never said that. Well, they're babies, though. Remember, you talk baby. So she's snapping these sexy bed selfies and sending them to him and not looking at the pictures. Now, I've got to give you a warning of this. There's two things you've got to be really, really careful of when you're taking pictures and sending them to people. Number one, anything that's in the background. Number two, if you take it on your iPhone and it's a live picture, you've got to make sure that they can't hold down the picture and see or hear something that they shouldn't be hearing.

03:00:49 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes. Yeah, because you have to remember that there's audio to those. Oh, yeah. I don't think people realize that.

03:00:54 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

03:00:55 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 4:

I'll be scared. I think I'll have sent some stuff to the group chat, our group chat before and it's been a live picture i'm like oh then i gotta like go hold it down make sure i ain't say nothing crazy in there yeah because you gotta thank god they got

03:01:06 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 3:

the unsend feel yeah the unsend is good but not good in a group chat you know why why because some people don't have their uh their phone updated and if they don't have their like zach i think's the the uh he's the person that is uh what would you be called the protect no he's on No, he's on an iPhone, but I don't know if he is, because it will say to me, cannot unsend to, and it will give me a couple people's names. Oh, really? And Zach's usually one of the names that will say it to me.

03:01:33 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm still on iPhone 7.

03:01:35 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 3:

You're an iPhone 7?

03:01:36 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 1:

No, I think it's iPhone 12. I don't know.

03:01:38 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I didn't even know that they actually had iPhone 7 still.

03:01:43 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, you know, on certain devices, like it'll unsend on your phone, but my iPad, I still see it.

03:01:49 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Do you really? Yeah. It doesn't unsend on there? No. I've got to figure it out.

03:01:52 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 5:

No, sure doesn't. And by the way, I love it when girls and guys do this too, will take a really beautiful and sexy photo of themselves in their bathroom here and the toilets behind them. Oh, I hate that. It just, whether the seat lids open or not, it's still like, that's where you poop. It looks dirty. That's where you poop. You poop there. That's so gross.

03:02:15 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Or text 95500 and Lydia will call you. But I want to know, has anybody ever gotten busted by either the background check that they didn't do on their photo or the live picture where they did something, said something, whatever, did something, you know, on there? Kevin, this is funny. Kevin?

03:02:40 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 2:

It's Kenny.

03:02:41 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 3:

Kenny. Oh, oh, she put Kevin up here probably because it reminded her so much of our Kev. What's going on?

03:02:48 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 2:

So I, my current girlfriend, we've dated for three years. When I first met her, I just got back from dinner with family, and I'm lactose intolerant, had a couple cheeseburgers I shouldn't have, and I took a live photo, and when I took it, I farted immediately after. I didn't realize it was a live photo until after I sent it, so I held it down after, and this was before I messaged you could delete the text, and she did it, and she sent, like, the shrugging emotion. She's like, you're so embarrassing, and I had nothing else to say to her after. Oh, my God. That's actually super funny.

03:03:23 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 5:

That is crazy.

03:03:23 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 3:

You know what, though? That's loving. That's like pure love, though, that she still loved you even after you farted in the photo.

03:03:31 - 03:03:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's still a problem, and she loves me through it still. Oh, that's okay.

03:03:35 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 3:

313 says, thanks for the call. 313 says, somebody I know frequently posts selfies in their bedroom, and there's always dirty clothes on the floor. Usually, I see a few pairs of panties just piled up on the floor, but she's posting this on Facebook. That's kind of interesting that they're not aware of that. I saw somebody one time do a bathroom pic, and I don't think it was duty in the toilet. I think they had well water or something, and it was like rust stains in the toilet. It looked like there was duty. It was like a ring.

03:04:11 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 5:

Toilet's a no-no. That's nasty.

03:04:12 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 3:

And I don't know if you guys do this, but I do this all the time, especially to Megan's photos. I zoom in. Do you guys do them at all?

03:04:18 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 4:

Why especially Megan's?

03:04:20 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 3:

Because I'm mesmerized by Megan. So I look at Megan's photos, and I zoom all the way in because I want to see if everything is together.

03:04:30 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Yes. You don't do it? You don't do this?

03:04:33 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 3:

Look at this.

03:04:33 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 4:

I am a zoomer, though.

03:04:34 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 3:

I want to see. Wait, hold it up.

03:04:37 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Hold it up.

03:04:37 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 3:

This is at the boot barn. I want to see. What does she got? Where are you zooming, though? Where are you zooming? I'm not zooming on those. I'm zooming in like here. I'm trying to see what's going on. On our boots at the boot bar? Yes. Has anybody ever done the picture of themselves with sunglasses on? And you can see what's going on.

03:04:56 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

03:04:57 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

We had somebody that did it, and they were doing the whole.

03:05:00 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 7:

I'm running on a running trail, and they had it, and in the pictures on there, they weren't running at all. Like, people were, like, standing right there. There was no running going on. It was just them trying to get a good picture.

03:05:10 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 2:

It was, like, two weeks ago. I went to Frickers to watch the Lions game with my dad. Yes. And we were sitting down, and not sponsored. Wish you would, Frickers. Wish you would, okay? She says aggressively.

03:05:22 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

03:05:23 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Just caught my wings. I was sitting there with my dad, and he goes, You know, I was looking at your stories today, and, like, you should really stop wearing reflective sunglasses when you're posting. It's very distracting. I thought you were, like, better at that. Don't you do that for a living? Your dad noticed it. I can hear him having this conversation with you. He literally was like, I think I would be better at that than you. And I was like, all right.

03:05:47 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 7:

I love that he knows the stories, too. That's great. What's up, Madeline?

03:05:53 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hey, so this is like, I think like earlier this year, my husband's family's group chat that I'm in now, his dad accidentally sent a live photo of like something funny in the bathroom at a urinal and like a public bathroom. And when you hit the live photo, you could see everything. And so my husband side texted me and he's like, Natalie, do not open the family group chat. Whatever you do, do not open it. And they had to go back and delete it.

03:06:23 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 7:

Why? What was on it?

03:06:26 - 03:06:30 | Speaker 5:

My father-in-law's penis. Oh! Oh, my God.

03:06:31 - 03:06:31 | Speaker 7:

Really?

03:06:32 - 03:06:36 | Speaker 5:

When you hit, like, the live photo, you know how you can watch it for, like, a second? Yeah.

03:06:36 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 7:

I love penises.

03:06:37 - 03:06:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

03:06:38 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Your father-in-law's junk. You, honestly, you weren't a little curious as to if it's, you know, the apple falling far from the tree?

03:06:50 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 5:

His son's is great, and that's all I can. So we're good.

03:06:53 - 03:07:00 | Speaker 7:

So, wait a second. Did you look at the photo before they told you not to look, or did you look after they told you not to look?

03:07:01 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 6:

If I'm being totally honest, I got the text of my husband said, do not open the family group chat. So, of course, I had to open the family group chat.

03:07:09 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

03:07:10 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 5:

And the picture was already gone, so I did not see anything. Okay.

03:07:12 - 03:07:13 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my goodness.

03:07:13 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 7:

By the way, I would so look at my father-in-law's penis. I would want to just see, what does it look like, you know? Come on. Here we go. What? Here we go. uh thank thank you for the call take care of yourself uh what's up shay hi

03:07:29 - 03:07:46 | Speaker 3:

good morning how are you we're good what's going on so my old boss i used to work at a dealership and um she has these little yorkies i think and we're showing off pictures of her yorkies on her cell phone and she shows me the picture and i'm like why why do you not see the dog shit

03:07:46 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 7:

Wait, so she's taking pictures, the boss is taking pictures of the Yorkies. You cannot say the S-H word, okay?

03:07:56 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, sorry.

03:07:58 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 7:

That's okay. And you can see dog poop all over. She's a disgusting pet owner.

03:08:03 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And she's that desensitized to it being there that she just thinks everybody else in the world thinks it's okay? It's just gross.

03:08:12 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

03:08:13 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 3:

She's wrapped up, literally.

03:08:16 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's funny. All right. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate you so much.

03:08:20 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you too.

03:08:21 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 7:

Hold on. Jasmine, I got to grab you. Jasmine, are you there?

03:08:24 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi, yes. Can you hear me?

03:08:25 - 03:08:26 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what did you do, Jasmine?

03:08:28 - 03:08:28 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm sorry.

03:08:29 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 7:

We're talking about the accidentally?

03:08:31 - 03:08:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yes. So I took a video on Snapchat and sent it to my entire contact. Showed everybody how cute my cat was being. And in the background, I didn't realize that I was naked. Like, I didn't know, like, the mirror had me naked in the background of the picture.

03:08:50 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 8:

Two cats.

03:08:51 - 03:08:53 | Speaker 4:

So I had to actually delete my Snapchat.

03:08:55 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 7:

Come on, Izzy. Did you hear what Kevin just said? No. What did Kevin say? I said, two cats.

03:09:06 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Kevin? Where is the drop of the mom from Home Alone screaming, Kevin? Kevin, I know. Oh, there it is.

03:09:18 - 03:09:28 | Speaker 1:

Okay, now I hear it. Okay. That ugly girl that's now dating your ex. The annoying coworker who stabs you in the back every chance she gets. They all listen to this show, too. But you're still much hotter. Mojo.

03:09:29 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 6:

In the morning. Channel 955.

03:09:32 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:09:35 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 7:

All right, why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out right here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Lydia, who's getting ghosted?

03:09:45 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Tara's getting ghosted.

03:09:46 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 7:

Aw, Tara.

03:09:48 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Tara. Hi.

03:09:50 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Tara, thanks for coming on with us. I appreciate it. If you are getting ghosted, if you're going on a date with somebody and then they're not calling you back or maybe giving you.

03:10:00 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 2:

a reason why they're not going on any other dates you can text to us date to 95500 that's d-a-t-e and get on just like tara did so tell us uh how many dates have you gone on with this person where

03:10:13 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 5:

did you guys meet where'd you guys go last i mean we were kind of like flirty um for a hot second And then, all right, so I'm a fitness coach, so I have classes at a gym, and she is a new member. Her name's Alice. We went out to drink Friday after class, like two weeks ago, and I haven't heard from her since. Like, she hasn't shown up to any of the classes she signed up for. She won't answer my texts, so.

03:10:45 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 2:

So it wasn't that she just came to your classes and took your classes and is now just not working out anymore. you guys actually had interaction with each other that would be that of, okay, I think that they quite possibly might like me.

03:11:00 - 03:11:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, exactly. And so I'm confused because she totally agreed to go out with me for a drink. But now I haven't heard from her. And we had a good time when we were out, so.

03:11:10 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 2:

All right, Alice is on the phone with us. Alice, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

03:11:15 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's fine.

03:11:18 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Hey, say hey to Tara.

03:11:21 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Tara.

03:11:22 - 03:11:22 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

03:11:24 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Now, Alice, for me, it would be I never actually follow through on working out or going to another class.

03:11:31 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 3:

He had a membership at a local gym for, like, two years and never actually went to a class.

03:11:36 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 2:

I also bought packages to Reyna's yoga school. I've never been to the yoga school. The yoga garden. It's been a while.

03:11:47 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 1:

Support your friends.

03:11:47 - 03:11:53 | Speaker 2:

That's right. But I will go sometime, hopefully. Um, so what's the story, Alice?

03:11:53 - 03:12:17 | Speaker 4:

I mean, look, I honestly, Tara, I just wasn't really vibing with you. And now I just feel really embarrassed because, you know, I signed up at the gym and I can't quit for like, I don't know what, six months. Um, and the other thing is like, you started talking about being the cutest couple at the gym and honestly, we haven't even known each other that long.

03:12:17 - 03:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what did she do? She started talking about you guys being a couple?

03:12:20 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and, like, the cutest couple at the gym and, you know.

03:12:24 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 2:

And you guys have just started just hanging out with each other and she's already called you a couple?

03:12:29 - 03:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But I just don't want to be in a situation where I'm pushed into something so quickly. You know what I mean?

03:12:36 - 03:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:12:37 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Tara, what do you have to say, Tara?

03:12:38 - 03:12:55 | Speaker 5:

I mean, we would be the cutest couple at the gym if we were ever to be a couple. But I didn't mean to put you in that situation. I just thought we were getting along, and it was going really well, and it was going to lead to something more. But you could have been honest and not have ghosted me.

03:12:55 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 4:

Like, that probably was. It is something I'm ready for, something that committed. I got excited, and I, like, impulse signed up.

03:13:04 - 03:13:23 | Speaker 2:

Right. By the way, this is another one of those things, like, with KP. when KP started kind of liking that guy that lived down the hall, I don't think you date neighbors and I don't think you date people that you go to the gym and meet. Or especially the person.

03:13:23 - 03:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Am I understanding the timeline? You guys went out and then you joined the gym? Or was it the other way around? The other way around. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. Okay, so it is the same as what Mojo's talking about.

03:13:34 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Because I just think that what you're doing is, if you, like, that's why I think you got to be careful dating in the office because if you date in the office and then

03:13:42 - 03:13:50 | Speaker 3:

super awkward, you're not vibing. Like you said, Alice. Yeah. All right. So are there

03:13:50 - 03:14:01 | Speaker 2:

other people that teach your class that you do Tara or is this your, are you the only one? I am the only one. Do you think that it was weird that you started calling yourselves

03:14:01 - 03:14:09 | Speaker 5:

a couple right away? No. Cause I thought we were, it was really going to go somewhere because I felt like we had a really good connection.

03:14:10 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 1:

So you are, because initially when you said it, I was like, well, maybe she's just joking, but it sounds like you're forecasting.

03:14:16 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, I thought, yeah, because apparently I read everything wrong.

03:14:22 - 03:14:57 | Speaker 2:

All right, I want to ask a quick question to the listeners. I want to have them weigh in on this one, and I'm kind of bummed that it doesn't seem like it's working out for Tara, but maybe if you pull back a little bit, maybe it could. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who is in the wrong on this one? And I know that it seems obvious that Tara might be Tara, you know, working as a trainer in a gym and, you know, trying to push this relationship forward, calling themselves a relationship. But is Alice also in the wrong, too, in the fact that she specifically, you know.

03:14:57 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 3:

Knew they weren't vibing.

03:14:58 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, knew and didn't say anything. about this. So there's a bunch of things here, especially the whole calling yourselves a couple thing kind of pushes it back. Eric, what do you think?

03:15:10 - 03:15:23 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, this is the first second date update where I've seen like honestly, Alice is being extremely truthful. Both of them are being extremely truthful, open and honest and everything like that.

03:15:24 - 03:15:25 | Speaker 2:

You know why it is that

03:15:25 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 6:

that's the case? They're women. They're smart. Exactly. There's no guy involved they're being all shady and whatnot or like the women are being shady because they're

03:15:35 - 03:15:39 | Speaker 2:

dealing with guys that's why i think that we have such a problem picking a side on this one

03:15:39 - 03:15:44 | Speaker 6:

i know it sounds like honestly they just need to hash it out and everything will work out

03:15:44 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 9:

it doesn't even need to be hashed out like they they they both said it very nicely i guess you

03:15:51 - 03:16:03 | Speaker 2:

know we need we need to maybe honestly have there needs to be more gay relationships on second date update yeah i wonder if if guys would be the same way or if we had two guys would it be a complete

03:16:03 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 5:

train wreck you know oh i got my notepad out and everything i'm gonna say this is my fiance

03:16:07 - 03:16:13 | Speaker 2:

hopefully it'll work later on right uh helena what's going on it's mojo in the morning second

03:16:13 - 03:16:21 | Speaker 3:

date update hey so i was just saying that you should not date customers okay just don't do that

03:16:21 - 03:16:46 | Speaker 2:

yeah most of the time it doesn't end well yeah we we've actually had that with sales people at the station where it was told by a sales manager back in the day it's like do not bait date clients it happens all the time though yeah not not a good uh situation uh what's up musa hi it's mojo in the morning hi how are you good your thoughts second date update um i think tara's in the wrong

03:16:46 - 03:16:58 | Speaker 4:

here she was pushing things out way too far before she even knew what alice was thinking um so i think tara's definitely in the wrong here yeah and you know what alice unfortunately is not

03:16:58 - 03:17:13 | Speaker 2:

on uh um hold to uh she disconnected during uh a part super dusty so i don't know yeah maybe she feels a little embarrassed by this one but tara so musa says that you're in the wrong i mean

03:17:13 - 03:17:27 | Speaker 8:

I think yeah I mean I guess I was I guess I just read all the signs wrong and it was different I mean if you were there you'd probably understand I don't know

03:17:27 - 03:17:33 | Speaker 2:

whatever can I ask you how often do you find yourself ever dating somebody that comes to your

03:17:33 - 03:17:37 | Speaker 8:

classes not often at all this is like I don't know

03:17:37 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 2:

so you really put yourself out there doing this

03:17:39 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 8:

like five years you know what I mean

03:17:41 - 03:17:49 | Speaker 2:

Because I was going to say, you got to be really careful because you'll lose clients along with, you know, losing a relationship.

03:17:50 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 1:

But I don't think Tara was wrong. I think she just said her feelings too quickly.

03:17:54 - 03:17:55 | Speaker 9:

But that makes sense.

03:17:55 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 1:

Like if she feels like they would be a great couple. She said the vibe was great. We think we're the cutest. I don't think she's wrong in feeling.

03:18:02 - 03:18:21 | Speaker 9:

No, I actually agree with you. I'm just trying to say, like, I wonder if we all and Alice especially took that as being a very serious comment. And really, she's like, we're the cutest couple at the gym. Alice got back on with us. Some people would let that roll off their back. Like, we're not a couple yet. But like, okay, we are cute. You know what I mean? But I could see it being taken a different way.

03:18:21 - 03:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Alice, you did not hang up on purpose. That was just a phone problem?

03:18:24 - 03:18:25 | Speaker 9:

No, no, no. I'm so sorry.

03:18:25 - 03:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, because we were worried.

03:18:27 - 03:18:28 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no. Don't go, sorry about that.

03:18:29 - 03:18:32 | Speaker 2:

So Alice, that was just brought up a second ago. It's like.

03:18:32 - 03:18:32 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

03:18:33 - 03:18:38 | Speaker 2:

You know, maybe you're taking the couple thing a little too far.

03:18:38 - 03:18:54 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I could have, like, you know, like, jumped the gun, and I've been burned before by getting into things too quickly, so maybe I'm being a little sensitive. I don't know. I did have a good time. Like, I did.

03:18:55 - 03:19:04 | Speaker 9:

And you said you weren't vibing, so there was more that rubbed you the wrong way besides that comment. Yeah. Yes or no? Yes.

03:19:04 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Would you be able to share, Alice, or do you not want to share?

03:19:08 - 03:19:19 | Speaker 7:

I mean, yeah, it's just, like, a little awkward. Like, I just, aside from not really vibing, like, I just, I'm kind of interested in someone else.

03:19:19 - 03:19:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, okay. So why are you even going on a date?

03:19:22 - 03:19:30 | Speaker 7:

I mean, because we're not exclusive, and it's not, and, you know, like, we're still dating other people, but I just also. How dare you?

03:19:30 - 03:19:33 | Speaker 2:

Guys never do stuff like that. I know.

03:19:33 - 03:19:36 | Speaker 9:

I know that's fair. This is where the. Guys weren't in a committed relationship. That's fair.

03:19:36 - 03:19:39 | Speaker 2:

This is where women are evil. I'm joking.

03:19:39 - 03:19:45 | Speaker 1:

We're not evil. What happened, Tara, when you said that to Alice? Like, what was her reaction? Do you remember it?

03:19:46 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 8:

I remember that she wasn't, like, super, like, enthusiastic like I thought she would be. But, like, I didn't think that it affected her in any way. Like, I mean, we still had good conversation.

03:20:00 - 03:20:07 | Speaker 2:

afterwards yeah yeah i mean like i did i put myself out on the line because i knew that i

03:20:07 - 03:20:39 | Speaker 4:

have to see her every week as well so by the way people are texting us that know tara because they take her classes people are like i know who tara is and they say that you are excellent and they love your classes and they are rooting for you and they want you to know that you're beautiful and that you will be good. So that's cool. They like it. They don't love it. Thank you for going on, guys. We appreciate it. Second date update.
