All right, are you ready?

00:01:44 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:46 - 00:01:47 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:01:51 - 00:02:29 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:02:30 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. I went out on Friday night. I talked about this earlier this morning about how I was out Friday night with the Kesslers and then, of course, the Kesslers and the Caicos. Sounds like a radio show, doesn't it? Kesslers and Caicos is an offer. Or a law firm, you're right. We could add them to our list of 8,000 of them that advertise with them. us right now they need a song though um so was out with them on friday posted some pictures up on our mojo in the morning uh instagram and facebook and i do have to say this that uh when i post and don't explain who the people are people always want to make an assumption of what it is and i was taking pictures with beautiful chaldean women right and so that was those were uh luke's babysitters luke joe and jacob's babysitters how did chelsea approve that can i be honest with you the funniest ever was i uh jed from the joe show and my son joe who do the show together they were just recently talking about the the babysitters that luke had over time because joe really didn't need a babysitter and um they were talking to like jed says you had to have the hots for your babysitters and joe goes now because they would always yell at me or whatever but um they're very attractive well i took the picture and i put friday night vibes on there when you see the comments that are on our Instagram and Facebook, you would think that listeners just busted me posting, you know, a cheating situation. There was, here's some of the comments. Where's Chelsea? Next comment after that is Mojo is going to get in trouble. Comment after that is this is Mojo acting out because he's upset about the ribbon cutting. Okay. That's the best comment. Even one of the comments says where are you going to send a dozen free roses to mojo i mean all these things and it got me thinking and this is actually very uh i think a good topic i make assumptions all the time when i see posts on social media and i wanted to ask our listeners what kind of post on instagram or facebook raised red flags for you and made you assume something about one of your instagram facebook friends that you guys follow because anytime that i see people posting certain things on

00:05:00 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 5:

social media i instantly start going oh there's trouble in paradise you know or something with their you know relationships or i bet you those guys you know broken up or oh my god i bet you that they're mad at this person you know like stuff like that you automatically start doing it you make a story yeah and they're in that that honestly was an honest thing for these people to to see this and by the way thank you because you gave me great credibility i was like i appreciate The credibility that you gave me. But I would love to know if you guys have ever done this. Because I recently just did this with a person. And I thought, oh, geez, this is bad. But friends of Chelsea and I, I saw the wife posting a whole bunch of stuff out with her girlfriends. And it was like post after post of her doing it. It just happened that she went on a girl's trip. And didn't explain why it was just her with a bunch of friends. And I thought, uh-oh, they may be having problems with each other.

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 3:

People always feel the need to check up on me if I don't post anything.

00:05:58 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say. Oh, you are?

00:06:00 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

And Mojo, you're one of them. You're like, is everything okay? Because I truly enjoy posting on Instagram. And so if I go quiet for a while.

00:06:09 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 5:

If I don't see you on your story with something. For sure, there's probably something. Or I don't feel well. One of two things. I think either there is trouble in paradise. Or one of the companies is about to do a new sale. Like a week or so. For the fidget spinners, or no, what are those things called, the loopy cases?

00:06:29 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, Cupcake 10.

00:06:30 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 5:

When are the new loopy cases coming? Next week. Okay.

00:06:36 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, tomorrow.

00:06:37 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 5:

Really? Jordan, what's going on?

00:06:42 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 2:

So, as soon as I saw all these posts, I knew it was going to be a topic, because what I think is, okay, if he is cheating, he'd be the dumbest name in the world to post it on the most popular facebook post ever and i'm

00:06:57 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

looking at everybody's like oh he's changing um the funniest was so we were we were out on friday and chelsea because chelsea's down in florida ryan kessler kept facetiming chelsea every five seconds from the bar because ryan got up at prime 29 and was singing with the singer who by the way They have a great singer there. This is, like, singer that's up there, like, performance songs. He did some Sade with her. It was unbelievable. Shout out to Sade. Poor Chelsea. Chelsea actually loved it, though. Did you? Oh, I think she was a little jealous not being there because she enjoys hanging out with Andrea and Connor and Candice and Darlene and those guys. What's up?

00:07:36 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm just wondering what everybody thinks is, like, oh, this guy's cheating, so he's going to go on a post.

00:07:42 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

00:07:42 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

Three million people.

00:07:44 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 5:

I went to. I went to a bar one time, and I was hanging out at a bar one time, and Chelsea had 20 calls at least from people that saw me out wondering where I was. And I was out with a single buddy of mine, and that might have been the problem was that. Guilty by association. Yeah. So I find it interesting when I do see red flags, though, and they are true, like when I do see that there are some red flags and they come back. Yeah. Because I can, I'll tell you, social media is a great indicator of whether or not your friends are going through something.

00:08:20 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

I think the biggest indicator of a very unhealthy relationship is a lot of social media posting. Like if you're a couple and you are constantly taking videos together or posting photos, doing photo shoots, like that means there's some insecurities happening in that relationship. And the first example I'm going to give is Brianna Chicken Fry and Zach Bryan. She was constantly posting videos of him. And like, I don't know, it's just a trend within like my friend group and seeing it with celebrities. I feel like people who are insecure tend to post more to overcompensate the issues in their relationship.

00:08:52 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

Do you think a lot of that has to do with manipulation from partners who may not be respectful in the relationship? Because I think when we hear from Brianna Chicken Fry specifically, there were so many issues of her posting like in that. Was it the Grammy she was at? What event was she at with the dress where he unfollowed her and then also posted her in the dress? And it becomes almost like a manipulation tactic of, no, no, no, I'm sorry. I love you. Let me post about you a lot. Let me show off to you. I'm not trying to flirt with other men. I'm not trying to do this. Or a projection.

00:09:23 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

I get worried in those situations. Yeah. I think it's a projection of, I also want this relationship to look better than it is because I know there are things that are wrong, so I'm going to post some more.

00:09:32 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

I know people who have been in relationships where their boyfriend, girlfriend would make them post. Like ask them to post or like send a photo and say, post this photo. And you can kind of start to realize when that's happening as well.

00:09:49 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 5:

But I will say shout out to the other side, though, because there is a population of people that are having an amazing relationship. Yes. And they showcase that.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 3:

It's mojo in the mornings back in the day we give you clues you tell us the year we give you cool prizes

She went to Dr. Dre for a pap smear.

00:11:49 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. What year was this?

00:11:53 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 9:

All right, this is the year Justin Timberlake exposed Janet's breast.

00:11:57 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 10:

Well, what people don't understand is he was to take and rip the piece off that he did. The letter piece. Right, but more came off than what was supposed to.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 1:

So he was supposed to pull that off and we'd just see the red.

00:12:11 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 9:

Oh, Justin, I see what you did there. White Chicks was the big movie.

00:12:16 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You want to talk about mothers. Oh, my God.

00:12:21 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 5:

You want to talk about mothers. It's mother time. Okay.

00:12:28 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 4:

Your mother's so dumb. She went to Dr. Dre for a pap smear. Something's wrong, Dr. Dre.

00:12:33 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 9:

Why couldn't she do it in the hip-hop? And Ashley Simpson had the big song. We were just talking in the studio, Zach and I. If there's a video to a song and the person is singing in the middle of the street, you know that song is going to be good. That is a certified banger. Certified. All right, let's go to our winner. We got Seth from Taylor. Seth, good morning. Oh, Seth. Are you muted, Seth? You just hang on one second, Seth. Is he muted?

00:13:05 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 7:

We got you. Seth, you there? We don't got you.

00:13:09 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 9:

Seth, there's a mute button if you have an iPhone. There are like six options that you can press. One of them has a microphone with a line through it. If that option is highlighted, then that is the one you have to select so you cannot be muted and the entire world can hear your voice. Seth. Because if you don't unmute Seth.

00:13:29 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 7:

Lydia, did he get it right? Hand it back to me, please. Yeah, he got it right. Or he's going to get in trouble.

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 9:

You know what this means, right?

00:13:36 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 6:

Zach, are the phone lines up?

00:13:38 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. You know what this means, Shannon? What? You got to keep singing Ashley Simpson. No, you don't.

00:13:43 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 7:

Did we give someone a prize, though, who's not talking? Did he have it right, though? He did.

00:13:47 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 9:

Okay, just give it to him off the air. Just give it to him? All right.

00:13:50 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 7:

And tell everybody else the year, just in case they were wondering.

00:13:52 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 9:

Lydia was correct. Lydia believes you.

00:13:54 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 8:

The year was 2004. Such a year. There we go. An amazing year. Seth is doing the Ashley Simpson Saturday Night Live, just lip syncing in his car. Come on. All right, we'll move ahead.

00:14:05 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 7:

You'll make fun of her.

00:14:06 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 9:

We got weekend tickets. Text to win. If you want to go see the weekend, he's performing at Ford Field on August 16th. I think Playboy Cardi is opening up for him. So text the word STARBOY to 95500 for your chance to win a pair of tickets. Again, text STARBOY to 95500. Standard text messages and data rates apply. It's one word.

00:14:31 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

It's one word. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:14:35 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, text one word. So you can be entered to win. Shannon, what's up on the dirty?

00:14:39 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 7:

Well, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have purchased a gorgeous, truly Spanish-style Beverly Hills mansion together. Seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms. What are you doing with 12 bathrooms? For a cool $35 million. And this thing looks like a resort when it comes to the grounds.

00:15:00 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 2:

library a grand swirling staircase outside there's a glass greenhouse a fitness center and of course an incredible pool so you know just to make you feel really good about yourself today that's what they did over the weekend there is some brand new video that captured the moment that that delta plane traveling from minneapolis carrying 80 people burst into flames upon landing on a very icy runway at Toronto Pearson International Airport yesterday. This new extraordinary footage comes as Canadian authorities reveal they are still working to determine what the heck caused this thing to crash. One of the passengers recounting what happened upon landing.

00:15:45 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 1:

It was routine, but like it was noticeable that the runways were kind of in a weird condition. And when we hit, it was just a super hard light, like I hit the ground. And the plane went sideways, and I believe we skidded, like, on our side and then flipped over on our back where we ended up. There was, like, a big fireball out the left side of the plane. And when we got finished, I was upside down.

00:16:13 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 2:

All 76 passengers and four crew members survived yesterday's crash.

00:16:18 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 1:

It was mass chaos. I was upside down. The lady next to me was upside down. And we kind of let ourselves go and fell to hit the ceiling, which is a surreal feeling. And then everybody was just like, get out, get out, get out. We could smell like jet fuel.

00:16:35 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 2:

Again, thankfully, there were no lives lost. 18 passengers were treated for various injuries. The youngest victim, a four-year-old boy.

00:16:42 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 3:

I mean, watching some of the cell phone video that was captured from these passengers is literally surreal.

00:16:49 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 2:

I didn't see any of this. And then it caught on fire. Really? Well, I saw the plane upside down, but I didn't see it on fire. I didn't see it in the plane. Look at the video that came out this morning. You see it actually land. It tips. It catches on fire, and then it flips.

00:17:01 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you can see video from passengers who are exiting the plane. Like, they're inside of the plane walking out with their cell phone footage.

00:17:08 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 2:

It is crazy.

00:17:09 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 3:

And it seems like I could be mistaken. I'm sure, you know, this isn't the first time that a plane has crashed. But it seems like last year when that Boeing stuff first started, and those guys who are whistleblowers magically, you know, one magically got sick, another one died. Like, all of a sudden, these planes are literally falling out of the sky. What is happening? Yeah.

00:17:27 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, if you've ever been to Disneyland or Disney World and ridden the It's a Small World ride, it is getting some new lyrics. This has nothing to do with it being, like, inappropriate or insensitive. It's just part of Disneyland's 70th anniversary. So as you step onto the ride, You're going to be shown like a film that highlights the two brothers who collaborated with Walt Disney on the song It's a Small World, the Sherman Brothers. They did Mary Poppins music. How do you know that? That is so random. I am impressed. Oh, my God. Also, now there's going to be a new verse in there. Fun fact for you and somewhat useless trivia. The song It's a Small World debuted in 1964 at the New York World Fair. The ride, which was one of the first to feature the use of animatronics, became a visitor favorite and was moved to Disneyland in 1966. There you go. Maybe I taught you something? You did. The more you know. For all of today's Dirty Catch-Up on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com. Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning

00:18:46 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning show is kev asking too many questions and is that the reason why kev is not getting what he wants and i don't know you don't seem like the type of person to ask too many questions but explain what's going on well i think when you're looking to live

00:19:10 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

in a new place you have to ask as many questions as you feel comfortable with because if you lay your head down and then things start falling apart or whatever the case is you'll be saying why didn't i ask questions so i'm looking at places that are closer to the station saw a place really liked it damn near fell in love tell the lady okay what's going on what's our what's our next step she like she all excited okay well yeah here you go here's the paper with all the information here's the website fill out all the stuff send in your paperwork put the money down and then there you go that night literally within a 24-hour period i go to the website fill out the application upload the proof of income upload everything that you needed to upload I send an email because I do some online research. I want to see what other people say. And there are some consistent flaws in the living situation. So I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. So I send her about seven or eight questions just as a follow-up. Two days go by, I didn't hear from her. I do get an email, though, from a different address that says, thank you for your application. Reach out to this person for next steps. I'll reach out to that person for next steps. within the hour the original person i was communicating with sends me an email and says oh somebody else put their money down the place is no longer there but i may have another one coming up this was two weeks ago i've sent four emails i called friday and left a voicemail none of my emails have been returned and the voicemail and my phone call haven't been returned

00:20:51 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 4:

either what kind of what so do you think your questions are the reason why it's not happening

00:20:55 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 3:

I can't find another reason why. What are your questions? Maybe I can pull it up.

00:20:59 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 1:

But I feel like that's like a huge decision. Moving is a big deal. You're allowed to ask questions. Thank you. And it's a lot of money.

00:21:05 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it was your questions that did it. Because as somebody who has hopped on from apartments a lot in the past five years, this is very normal. It's infuriating and normal.

00:21:15 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 1:

Like the lack of follow-up? Yes. Well, not only the lack of follow-up, I think, but also this other person whomever probably was like, yep, I'm ready right now. And instead of them doing the right thing and saying, actually, somebody else is interested in this apartment, let us check with them first if they want it or not. They're just so money hungry. They just want the money.

00:21:34 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 2:

When I moved into my current apartment, when I toured it, the person who toured it with me said, I'm showing this tomorrow if you don't decide now. And they say they want it at the end of their tour tomorrow. It's theirs. It is first come, first serve on apartments. So if somebody comes in and says, I'll put the money down right now, they win.

00:21:53 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 3:

Look, and that's not my problem.

00:21:55 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 2:

No, I know. I know it's not. There's so many problems with apartment hunting. When I lived in Toledo, I lived at the Commodore Perry, and that is, I'll say this, not my first choice of building down there, but I could not get the other buildings to return my calls. I remember that. I was infuriated.

00:22:15 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

Do you think you, Kevin, they saw that you worked on the radio and stuff, and they go, huh, maybe the other guy was a doctor or something?

00:22:27 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 3:

What does that have to do with it? If I can afford a place, I can afford a place.

00:22:31 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I want you in my place, though.

00:22:33 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 3:

Look, if they accept you, then they should accept you.

00:22:36 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 4:

No, I know, but do we have any leasing agents? That's so illegal.

00:22:41 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 3:

Are you thinking it's a class action lawsuit? I'm just saying. That's what I hear.

00:22:45 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 4:

If I had a choice, I'd rather have Dr. So-and-so than this is the mojo in the morning show. Maybe that's why we didn't cut the ribbon. I don't know. Maybe. No, I'm just saying. No offense to you. It's offense to all of us. But if I had a choice of a radio guy or something else, maybe that's the thing. Do they prioritize these people over people?

00:23:04 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 3:

It's supposed to be equal opportunity, right? Just like employment.

00:23:07 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 4:

And that's what life is like, right? You think that actually happens? Look who you're talking to. Wow, Lizzie, right? I'm telling you, that makes me wonder. I think maybe you have to lie about your employment.

00:23:17 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 2:

You can't do that. No, I've thought about it before. I've had quite a few people who toured places with me be like, and I know what you do for a living, so if you're thinking about throwing parties, our quiet hours are. And my brother toured with me once, and he was like, you think she doesn't go to bed before 8 p.m.?

00:23:31 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 4:

Right. You're a perfect tenant.

00:23:34 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 2:

Truly, apart from the hours that I leave my apartment, I am because I'm not throwing parties. Bitch, I'm tired. I'm tired. i get up at three o'clock in the morning i am tired let me ask you this though is this a sign

00:23:47 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 3:

that this isn't the place for you and you should look for alternatives or if more so to the point megan made about this is just the landscape right now maybe people are busy whatever they be i go inside physically and ask what's going on i think yeah you gotta do that i think you have to

00:24:06 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 4:

First off, I think first thing, you, when you meet people, they love you. They fall in love with you. I thought I had a good relationship with the girl. You're on email with her.

00:24:15 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm talking about in person.

00:24:17 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 4:

I've seen her twice. Well, I think, where is this place? Let's go. Let's go down there.

00:24:22 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

We're going to be down there today anyway. That's why I'm asking. Should I just run in? I would, but have you been to the office?

00:24:27 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, twice.

00:24:28 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay, some offices, though. This is the other fun part. Some offices are super easy to get to and talk to a person. other offices are you need a contact person for them to either come and get you or buzz you up and if not you cannot get into the i can walk straight to this one that's nice but is it weird

00:24:43 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 3:

if i just say and then how do you approach that hey i've seen you four emails like how do you

00:24:48 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

i know people i know you see my call i know people that when the housing market which is still crazy. There's still not a lot of, you know.

00:25:00 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 3:

homes for sale that wanted a house so bad i know people that have brought over dinner and baked goods and things like that saying to the people i want to buy this house from you yeah since we're

00:25:11 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 4:

going to be right there today after the show it would be worth it to go in and say my emails and my phone calls have gone unanswered so now this is this is me like yeah this is my last resort

00:25:21 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 3:

this doesn't happen if you go to fhsliving.com fhsliving.com they're beautiful i got they got two in cork town they got two in cork town i will also say i think a big part of it is who the

00:25:34 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 1:

current like building manager is because the company i could not get to call me back in toledo is the current company i'm living with in detroit and they have a different management person in charge now and it is a world of a difference in communication do we have do we have uh text by

00:25:52 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 3:

the way texter here saying that this has happened numerous times just like megan says to them trying to get a place that the people don't call you back.

00:26:01 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 2:

I thought they wanted people to move in.

00:26:03 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

That's the name of the game. No, no, no, they already got them. I could get anybody to call me back. I wanted to buy a place downtown, could not get them to call me back. And it gets to the point where, unfortunately, there is a huge perk to this job. I had to start using my work emails for stuff, and that was the only time I would get responses. But then I go, do I really want to live somewhere where they're only paying attention to me because of X? Because what happens when there's an actual issue?

00:26:27 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Tax 95500. Another one here, 313. Kevin, this is a sign from God. It was not written for you. This place wasn't meant for you and your family.

00:26:41 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 2:

I've thought of that.

00:26:42 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's, yeah.

00:26:43 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 2:

I've thought of that. Right? I have.

00:26:45 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 3:

But then there's a piece of me where it's like. But what if God wants to really screw with your life?

00:26:50 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 2:

You know? I mean, yes. The thought that this isn't meant to be has crossed my mind. and there's only so much that I can do and if I'm doing everything that I can do and I'm still being met with resistance, then take your hands off of it. But then there's also like, okay, am I doing enough? It's just calling and texting enough. Maybe I do need to physically go down there, you know, and see. So I'm going to do that today. And if I don't get it, then, yeah, we leave. We're going to go.

00:27:16 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 3:

We're going to knock on that door. We're going to say, we're not leaving until you give this man an apartment.

00:27:21 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 1:

How frustrating is it when everything is do it online, put the application in online, sign this online, and then when I need help, you don't respond to me online. I have to go in person and take time out of my life.

00:27:33 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Hello.

00:27:35 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 1:

Hello. Did you guys just call about Winnie Winnie?

00:27:38 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 3:

00:28:48 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 2:

It's about six or eight minutes away.

00:28:52 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 3:

What if Dan Gilbert calls up and says he wants you to be the first tenant of his brand new Hudson's building?

00:28:57 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Come on, Dan. See, I want personalized entry, though. That's my thing. I don't want to have to do all of that.

00:29:04 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yeah. Right now, you should just want a place that's got a roof over the head. I'm a firm believer in, like, you know, speaking what you want. All right. Go ahead.

00:29:12 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 2:

Speak into that Hudson's building, man.

00:29:14 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 3:

Speak what you want right now. You want personal entry?

00:29:16 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 2:

I want personal entry. I don't want to go over $2,000 a month. Two-bedroom for sure. Multi-level. It would be perfect if I could drive in to the garage. I'm just saying what I got now, for real. You know what I'm saying?

00:29:33 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 3:

By the way, if we're all saying this, I would like free pizza every day.

00:29:42 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 2:

See you guys. Thank you. It's Mojo in the mornings. 5 is 6.55. 5, 5, 5, 5.

00:35:35 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show. Shannon.

00:35:39 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Kev.

00:35:40 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 3:

How are you?

00:35:41 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

00:35:42 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm good, man. You seem to always have crazy stories about things that happen in the gyms that you go to. Okay, this is not a story about the gym I go to. No, we have Planet Fitness guy who was like in the corner doing crazy things all the time. You always have something going on in the gym.

00:35:55 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 4:

The noises that are completely unnecessary, by the way. Do you agree with me?

00:36:00 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely. It's so uncomfortable. What is it this time, man?

00:36:03 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I feel like I want Lydia in the studio for this because her and I have been the ones talking about this. And I'm not going to say the name of this place. But Lydia and I have been talking about wanting to try Pilates.

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:36:15 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 4:

And I've never done Pilates before. I think that like the men and women who do Pilates, they have like rocking bodies. But it just like as a former ballet dancer, it is very intriguing to me because I think a lot of the moves like remind me of some stuff that we did in ballet. Anyway, there's this new studio that everybody is talking about and everybody has been recommending to me. It's kind of by my house. And so I checked out their social media. And their social media shows that in order to go to this particular place, at least to me, you have to be a skinny, ripped supermodel with long, gorgeous, flowing locks that are done, makeup, and an outfit that matches everybody else's outfit that goes there.

00:37:09 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 5:

Which costs $200.

00:37:10 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 4:

And I am so, I was talking to Lydia about this. I am so intimidated just by their social media or people I know that go there and then tag this place that I don't think I will ever go.

00:37:24 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, they even like, they throw these little parties, like these exclusive parties. It's very like clicky to me. And I feel like I wouldn't even fit in this click.

00:37:33 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 4:

I just, I would like, when I go to the gym, I look like, holy hell. Because I don't care. And I usually will go like, depending on where I'm going, I'll go in the sauna. I mean, like I come out of the place disgusting. So I am not wearing makeup or doing my hair or I'll be honest, sometimes I will wear like an outfit that I do feel kind of cute in. But for the most part, I am not looking my best when I go. And so to see this place as social media, I'm like, I don't, I don't feel like I would fit in there. Is this a reformer place? Yeah. They do both.

00:38:07 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I don't know what it is about reformer Pilates, but it's a cult and you cannot change my mind about it.

00:38:12 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 1:

No, I do reformer Pilates. It is a cult. I love it. And there's only like three other girls and sometimes even guys that rotate in and out of there.

00:38:19 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because it's so expensive. Nobody can afford to go. But let me tell you, you have the same outfit as everybody else there. The same like grippy socks, the same hair claw clip, because you have to have a claw clip, but it has to be the flat one. Can't be the one that bulges out of your head. It's a cult. I didn't even know they had a flat one. What are you talking about? Oh, girl, it'll change your life. If you can lay down on a couch and you don't have a claw clip on the back of your head, change your life.

00:38:43 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 3:

This is interesting. So are there rules to how you need to look when you go work out at places?

00:38:49 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:38:49 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 3:

Do you feel like you need to get dressed up? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:38:56 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 4:

Why are you nodding your head yes, Zach?

00:38:59 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

Even Lee doesn't know the call letters, so I have to give him the phone number. Oh, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, I'm going to be honest with you, because when you started, you said people who do Pilates have rocking pods. I agree, but the exercises don't look that hard. They look like they be sliding on like these little seats.

00:39:17 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 5:

It's going to watch NFL videos of players doing Pilates for the first time. It is hard.

00:39:22 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 4:

And it's those little, it's those micro movements that, especially with weight attached to them, like on a reformer. I say this like I know what I'm talking about, and I don't because I've never done it. But supposedly, it's very difficult.

00:39:34 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 5:

But I feel like this is spreading over into all gyms. Like, I'm very uncomfortable going to most gyms nowadays because I feel like unless you're wearing a $200 outfit, everybody's like, get out of the gym. Everybody's filming for social media now.

00:39:46 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 3:

That's a fact. So it's not just T-shirt in there. You got to come in with the leggings. They got to match. You got to have the shoes with the socks that are perfectly aligned.

00:39:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, look at all these girls, Kev. As you would say, they are cold. This is at a gym? Yes, this is this place I'm talking.

00:40:00 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 3:

about oh damn it's like a vogue shoot see and what's crazy about that is they're using a film camera then they're scanning those in like the whole beautiful by the way every single person

00:40:11 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 2:

is beautiful but it's too much it's too much our pilates it is a cult is that like a mean girls

00:40:16 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 1:

workout pilates like when you say it's got to be clicky like it's like a certain type of

00:40:21 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 3:

club you got to get into you got to get initiated uh i don't blood donation i don't think somebody Nobody else drinks it. Do you remember when... Look at those abs. Megan Fox. That is a strong necklace of blood.

00:40:35 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 1:

That don't even look real. Let's go to Connie. Connie, what's up?

00:40:39 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 6:

Hello, for so long time. Yeah! Connie's on the phone. Oh, my gosh. I've been trying to get on the radio forever. I was just wondering how to do a Pilates. I don't even know how to do it. That's what I was asking. Can somebody show me? I mean, I'm saying, for a person on a weight loss journey, I lost 185 pounds. Go, Connie.

00:41:01 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, you need to be teaching a class, Connie. Connie, that's incredible.

00:41:04 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm trying to say. I'm just saying. 185. You know, just changing your diet, and, you know, I was on the shot for a while. Okay. You know, and Megan, I just want to say, Megan, you inspire me. I love you. I love you. Thank you. And Shannon, I love you, too. I love you, too. You're awesome. Oh, my. And I don't know where Mojo is, so I'll give him a big up. And I met Mike at Faster Horses, and I was like, you know, I listened to you for a while, Mike, but I had to come back to you guys. We love you, too.

00:41:32 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 1:

We appreciate you coming back, honey. And thanks for inspiring other people as well. We love you. 185, no matter how you do it, that's impressive, and you should feel really good about yourself.

00:41:42 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 6:

I really do, and I just want to say y'all were a big help in that, like listening to you guys and hearing the stories. And I wish Mojo was on there telling him, too. I love you guys. Thank you.

00:41:54 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 4:

We love you, too. Let's go to Nikki. Nikki, what's up? Nikki, you there? Yes, I'm here. Good morning. First time, long time. I just wanted to call in and say I'm cracking up over here because I'm like totally not skinny. and my friend convinced me to go to Pilates with her once and so I went in and like my typical gym attire like a sweatshirt and leggings and they're like telling us to do the things on the reformer and I'm like shaking like heavy like shaking on the reformer um but honestly I just wanted to say Shannon like it ended up being one of my favorite classes and I did end up going back and I really think it has to do with the instructor and the place that you're going so I definitely think

00:42:45 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 1:

you should do it okay thank you thanks for that motivation it sounds like shannon should host a

00:42:50 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 2:

class and we should all go and have listeners go if you guys go with me okay i would do that would make me less intimidated by it for sure come support you yeah ruby hey ruby hey good morning

00:43:05 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 5:

guys how are you good morning we're good how are you i'm doing okay i'm on my way to my first day nursing school oh congratulations i wanted to make a comment about what shannon said she said that when she walks out of the gym she looks disgusting and she doesn't care how she looks going in there occasionally she'll wear a cute outfit i agree i think that if you walk out of the gym looking disgusting you did the job that you came to do but i also wanted to say i also wanted to say that when you go into the gym not caring what you look like you're truly there to work out but if you're doing all this extra stuff putting on makeup doing your hair like I know sometimes people enjoy looking good but I feel like when you're also doing all that extra stuff you're not really there to work out you're there to get looks from other people which I'm not saying is wrong but I think that we're all in agreeance that when Shannon's walking in the gym not caring what she looks she's truly there to work out yeah but you know what I don't think is fair well first

00:43:59 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 3:

of all I got a question are you single I am yes okay so there tell me if you struggle finding or meeting new people the way I do or do you have a lot of success if so I will hang up on you immediately no it was a joke I don't know why everybody looks at me very stressed out that was in fact a joke but there are two aspects of this a I feel like there's so few opportunities to meet people that you do need to show up looking your best just because it's one of the rare opportunities to meet people okay and b how many times are we going straight from work i'm not going to work without my hair and makeup done of course my hair and makeup is going to be done when i'm going there okay that is fair absolutely fair no and you're absolutely right but sometimes you know like

00:44:43 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 5:

for most of us we don't get that luxury i have two kids i have a newborn and i have a toddler he's almost two i have two under two i'm going the only time i'm able to go to the gym is straight after nursing school where we're not even allowed to do makeup and do ourselves up yeah you know what i mean yeah that's not the reality for most of us

00:45:00 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

You're trying to save lives. Time is a luxury. Time is a luxury. And to get ready, you need a lot of time. Yeah. I hear that. All right, mama, do your thing then. All right, let's go to one last call. I want to get this one. This is B, who's voice disguised, who has a different opinion than the other callers that have called in. B, what's up? You there?

00:45:20 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm here.

00:45:21 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, B. How are you guys? What say you? We're good. How are you?

00:45:25 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. First time, long time. Oh, my God.

00:45:28 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 2:

B's on the line. What's up, B?

00:45:32 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 3:

All right, so, Shannon. Yes. Do you just want to go to this place because the women look so great?

00:45:38 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

No. It has been recommended to me by so many people because of the workout.

00:45:45 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, I can guarantee that I'm getting feedback, and I don't know why. So if I'm sounding shit, let me know, you guys.

00:45:53 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

If you're sounding what?

00:45:54 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 3:

i'm i'm tearing myself like after the i'm already talking okay okay just push through

00:46:03 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 2:

you sound good on our end what's your comment okay great so with the pilates if you keep doing

00:46:09 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 3:

that for like 10 20 years from now you're going to be very happy with your unhappy with your results why is that you have to do heavyweight ladies trust me what happens 20 years from now Not enough weight in Pilates for you to continue to build the muscle that you need.

00:46:33 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 2:

Are you a personal trainer?

00:46:36 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am. Oh, gosh, no.

00:46:38 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, there we go. They're on their own services.

00:46:42 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm giving you the honest back.

00:46:47 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:46:47 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 3:

She told me that we'll get saggy with Pilates over time.

00:46:51 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Too late. I turned 40 and everything just went to crap.

00:46:58 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 1:

We're broadcasting on great radio stations on the iHeartRadio app and, of course, on Channel 955 Detroit, 104.5 SNX, Grand Rapids, and 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo. We were all together and we're hanging out and we were having a discussion about food because that's pretty much what we do. We talk food, sex, and pooping. Those are the trifectas of the Mojo in the Morning Show, the big three, so to speak. And we were discussing, you know, like what our favorites have been and what of our favorite food adventures have been. And I brought this up and I thought, why am I talking about this? Why did I bring it up? And then everybody joined in and I thought, this would be a great topic for the radio. Everybody's got a fat food moment. We all know that. Everybody has had that moment in their life Where they went fat crazy Fat boy And it could be a moment where You know you were Either going through some kind of an emotional time Because I'm an emotional eater like that Or it could be a moment where Maybe you were high

00:48:11 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

You don't have any idea how heavy you are?

00:48:15 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

But it's one of those moments that happened to me where both happened at the same time. I was emotional and I was high. And I remember when Domino's, what? And my mom drinks are like combination. Combination. Sorry. I thought you were telling me a fat moment for you. I was going to get excited because I know everybody's got one. It was a moment where I was home alone and I saw on television that Domino's Pizza had the two for $20 special. And it was two large pizzas with any toppings on it, and it was $20.

00:48:51 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 2:

Any toppings?

00:48:52 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 1:

Any toppings. Wow. Voidware prohibited. You know how they do those things? And the pizzas look so good. And by the way, Domino's. Shout out to Domino's. Domino's has gotten better with time, I think. It's unbelievable. You guys are fantastic. So Domino's had this special going, and I was smoking the reefer and got a little too crazy and i ordered and the person goes how many would you like and i'm thinking well how many can i get and the guy goes well it's limited to two orders and i go two orders and he goes yeah so i go okay i'll take two orders the guy came delivered to my door four pizzas all right and by the way i'm gonna say this to you i was home by myself it was just me It was nobody else, just me. Okay. And I was stoned, and four Domino's pizza came, and guess how much it cost? $40. Wow. It was $40. Well, plus tip, plus tip. It was $40. Hopefully. I had enough pizza for a party.

00:49:53 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 2:

What a time.

00:49:54 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 1:

Of one.

00:49:56 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 2:

A whole cheese pizza just for me. But here's the thing. No, I said to myself, though, I go, you know what? I'm only going to eat one pizza, or one half of a pizza. And then the problem was, it just kept going and going and going to a point where I ate four pizzas. No. Yes. See that? You count it? Two, three, four. Four pizzas.

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 3:

Large pizzas.

00:50:26 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 2:

Four large. Any toppings. Even the guy let me do this. He let me separate the toppings. So I did one sausage. I did one pepperoni. I did one with mushrooms because I wanted to be healthy. And I did one with cheese because I didn't know what the kids would want it.

00:50:41 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 3:

I don't even want to know what your bathroom smelled like after that.

00:50:44 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 2:

I honestly don't even know if I, I'm not kidding you when I say this, I think I got constipated.

00:50:50 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 1:

Was this pre-gluten allergy, like finding out that you had celiac?

00:50:54 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 2:

This was honestly, yes, pre-gluten allergy. So this was some time ago. Because I've had a gluten allergy now for definitely more than a decade, almost two. So it was such a glorious moment for me. And I want you to know that I hold my Domino's Pizza medal proud. And I would like to say to everybody in Ann Arbor this morning at Domino's World Headquarters, why am I not the spokesperson for you? Look at me. Would that not be a spokesperson moment? I think so.

00:51:21 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

That's a spokesperson moment. My only issue is not the fact that you had four large any topping pizzas. It was the fact that after the guy told you the deal, you had.

00:51:35 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Double it up.

00:51:36 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 3:

You had the thought to ask, well, how many can I get?

00:51:39 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

Who asked that question? People who have a lot on their minds. Two for 20.

00:51:44 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, how many can I get? You know who asked that question? Typical fat guy.

00:51:50 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Curiosity killed again.

00:51:51 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 2:

All right, so I would like to, with the help of you, this is one of those moments where we all do therapy together. I would like our listeners to call up, and I would like all of you to share what's the most food you ate at one time and what was it that you ate. Because everybody's at this. I don't care if you're as skinny as can be. You have had a fat moment where you've eaten the entire bag of Doritos and gone in for more.

00:52:17 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 3:

And group experiences are allowed in this conversation. Group experiences? Sure. So if it wasn't just a solo fat moment, it was a shared experience. Those are a lot.

00:52:26 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 2:

Shared experiences are shared experiences.

00:52:28 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 3:

So me and the homies used to smoke a lot of weed. And we came up with this thing called Session Sundays, where everybody would pool their money together, and we would all smoke a bunch of weed on Sunday. So it was about five of us and my boy, Sheaf Crid. High as hell. Hungry as hell. Like, how much money everybody got? Let's go to White Castle. Yeah. when i say oh my god we bought a hundred burgers pork dog crab cases pork them in the middle of the floor and we sat around like crackheads had a fire okay you know what i mean like a fire story like a campfire and said on your mark you said

00:53:14 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 2:

that was a stellar high-fiving high-fiving for me i can't reach over there

00:53:17 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 1:

All right, who wants to go next? I can't compete with that. Are you kidding me? That's nothing. Let's go. Bring on the challenge. Please. We used to do these things. We called them fat trips. And you would go to, like, we would go to Sonic, and we would get cherry limeades. You start with the drinks because no ice. That's an important part of this. We don't want the ice to melt during the trip. We can add ice at home. Then you got to do Taco Bell last because, weirdly, that stuff has a shelf life of about six and a half seconds before it gets weird you would go to wendy's and get a hundred chicken nuggets minimum and every time they won't start making the order until you give them the money because they think you're going to drive off we had to tell them a million times at the drive-thru 100 nuggets we mean 100 nuggets wait how long does it take to make 100 nuggets about 20 minutes oh my god we would take two cars so he would be he would be or if I was just cursed at Wendy's I would be at McDonald's and I would be getting four large fries like that was the plan

00:54:19 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 3:

how many of you all were in this experience? two oh my god he'd eat four fries a hundred nuggets

00:54:28 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm going away with some girlfriends this weekend and if you're listening right now we need to step it up we need a story like this When I would go to Sonic and I would get the drinks, I would also get a corndog. That was for the road corndog. That was a snack while we were getting the food.

00:54:50 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Give it up for Megan. That was excellent. Oh, that was excellent.

00:54:54 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 1:

Nobody does a fat day like I do. I miss those.

00:54:57 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Zach, you've had to have some moments.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

like this. Come on. Definitely not like that. No.

00:55:03 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 6:

Mine's a solo moment. Is yours a solo moment or a group moment?

00:55:06 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 3:

I feel left out. I'll pay like $50 on DoorDash for me alone, but like I'm not going to five different places for $100. You're missing out Zach. You're missing out. Alright, hold on.

00:55:16 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 4:

Let's do it. Let's try it. Let's see what we got here. Hold on. Let's bring on our fat moments here. Lena, welcome to the Fat Olympics. What's going on?

00:55:25 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 2:

How you guys? How you doing? Oh, we used to live in Alabama, and we went to, me and my husband, we went to a restaurant. It was cheddar. And I love ribs, but I'm scared to eat them from different restaurants. And so my husband ordered the ribs, and I ordered the catfish. And I ate all of my food, my catfish dinner, and then he ate, like, maybe one rib. and I tried to taste his ribs and I ate the rest of it. I ate his whole ribs.

00:56:00 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 4:

You ate the entire slab of ribs yourself?

00:56:03 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 2:

Other than one rib that he tried.

00:56:06 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you're turning me on right now. I love you, Lena.

00:56:13 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 2:

Say nothing like a lady that can finish her meat.

00:56:15 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 4:

By the way, let me ask you a quick question. Do you eat it down to the bone? Like there's no meat on that bone afterwards?

00:56:23 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I love ribs. Famous Saves is my favorite. Oh, I love them too.

00:56:27 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 4:

Those are so good. Thank you for calling them. I love the cornbread muffins at Famous Saves. Oh, my God. I got a 12-pack of those one time. You can get those to go, by the way. A 12-pack of muffins?

00:56:36 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 1:

The cornbread muffins from Famous Saves? I've added those into a meal before.

00:56:40 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Nick is on. Nick, tell everybody your fat order.

00:56:46 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 6:

All right. Well, first time, first time, long time. Yes! Nick's on the phone! but this is actually my co-worker so we were working late um i actually work at a dealership so it was a late night and he said hey do you want to go grab some food i said yeah i said i'm i'm kind of hungry he said yeah he's i'm not i'm not too hungry i said all right i said you fly i buy he's like all right so he goes to wendy's which is right down the road he comes back i got Two things off the value menu, like a chicken sandwich and a small fry. This guy comes back, I'm not even kidding, two Baconators, a large fry, a large chocolate shake, and a 20-piece nugget. Oh, my God. All on my credit cards.

00:57:31 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 4:

Buddy, that is unbelievable. By the Baconator. Give it up for the Baconator, guys. When those drops. Yeah, those are epic. That changed the game. Hold on a second. I caught it. Go ahead. Yes. I had breaking news in here right now. I had breaking news. Do you want to interrupt breaking news right now, or what do you got? No. Let's hear it. Baking. I one time ate four Whoppers in one sitting. Yeah, baby.

00:58:01 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 3:

Whoppers are underrated. We're in a double, triple Whopper.

00:58:05 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 4:

The last two, I did not eat the bun, though. I apologize. I let you go.

00:58:10 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 3:

That's healthy. F.B.K. Happy to win. You rule.

00:58:17 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Cav, somebody wants to up you on the Crave Case. Uh-oh, bring it. What's up, Robert?

00:58:23 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time in a long time. Hey, buddy. Yeah, Robert's on the phone. All right, so a few years back, me and my buddy were celebrating before he went to the U.P. for school, And we both went to White Castle, got a Crave Case each. And then we went to McDonald's after that, picked up two large fries each and two large Cokes.

00:58:46 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my Lord. Last news. By the way, how heavy is a Crave Case? Like, how many Crave Cases would it take to, like, weigh down the back of a vehicle?

00:58:59 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 5:

I wish I had the answer to that one.

00:59:01 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 4:

Jenny, are you there? Yes. Jenny, you had such a great moment at CeCe's Pizza. You guys remember CeCe's?

00:59:08 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, the buffet. Yes. Yeah, we would have a rotation, and then we would end up going to CeCe's, and we ended up, like, clearing the buffet, and it was, like, maybe three, maybe four of us.

00:59:24 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, wait, clearing the buffet, what does that mean, clearing the buffet?

00:59:28 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 1:

Like, there was maybe, like, two or three pieces of stuff left there.

00:59:34 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 4:

You ate the entire buffet at CeCe's?

00:59:38 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 1:

We legitimately brought a whole thing of, like, the brownies back to the table. We just grabbed the tray. Oh, my God.

00:59:45 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever hear the story I told back in the day when the Mojo in the Morning Show got kicked out of the Chinese buffet in Novi? We got kicked out because we were there for so long. They told us that we could never come back there ever again. Did CeCe's let you come back?

01:00:00 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 1:

yeah we ended up like paying i think they ended up like charging us extra oh my god can i ask a

01:00:09 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 2:

question are you whispering or talking this way because you don't want your co-workers to know

01:00:14 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 1:

that you did this no i'm off today oh come on all right it's mojo in the morning show

01:00:22 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 2:

megan came into the studio bearing gifts this morning and these are the kind of gifts that we love edible gifts thank you can you tell everybody what i did uh you uh baked like cookies that are almost too pretty to eat thank you and i made you gluten-free cookies yeah kp and i are both gluten-free uh we would soil our pants if we ate gluten which actually might not be bad on the

01:00:51 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 3:

last day of being here but i know kp ate hers already did you try yours i have not i i have

01:00:57 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 2:

it right here here's the thing by the way this is beautiful it looks like a beautiful flower like a

01:01:02 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 3:

like a fine how did you how did you get the flower shape on there uh the piping tip oh you're really out here using real utensils which is funny because the ones i made for mojo and kp because they're both gluten-free i used the pretty tip and i did it first because i was trying to not cross-contaminate anything so like i'm pretty much made all of their stuff right off the bat

01:01:22 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 2:

Do you use just the tip?

01:01:24 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, always, just the tip. Okay. And a large bag. Large sack, you mean? Correct. And I love squeezing it in my hands. Oh, my God. Who am I today? I don't know.

01:01:34 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 2:

By the way, and he is Michael Scott. I didn't tell you. Unreal.

01:01:39 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 3:

When I get fired, know that it's 1,000% Kev's fault. But I got super lazy yesterday. So it's really funny because if you look at Mojo and KP's cookies, very cute. So, me, I didn't want to wash the tip, and so they're just like a turd on top. Yes, that is a perfect description for the icing on our cookies. It's just. Well, okay. Thank you, because these might be the most expensive cookies I've ever made in my entire life.

01:02:07 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Whoa.

01:02:08 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't mean to brag, but these cost roughly, I mean, over $250.

01:02:13 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What are these? Are these like Tiffany cookies or something? Because that looks like a plate.

01:02:18 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not that. It was I shattered a $25 bottle of vanilla extract as I was cleaning up last night. Thank God it was at the very end of the night because I literally was at the end of my rope. And as I turned around to throw something in the fridge, I just knocked it off of the countertop with my arm and it shattered. And there's like glass everywhere and it just reeks of not even vanilla because if you have ever worked with vanilla extract, you actually know that it reeks of alcohol. So, like, it just smells like I'm an alcoholic. And I looked down at my shoes, and I was wearing a pair of Uggs. That are shoes.

01:02:59 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 2:

You can't wipe them off.

01:03:00 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 3:

That I was wearing as house slippers. So they've never, like, been worn outside. Because I haven't waterproofed them yet, so I was just wearing them as house slippers. And I got vanilla extract all over them and completely destroyed them. So these cost me about two.

01:03:15 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

So we better enjoy these cookies. Don't anybody not enjoy these cookies I don't want to see that By the way I always hate when somebody does Is it offensive to cooks and chefs And bakers and stuff If they offer you food I always feel like you have to eat it Like I would be If I was on the Today Show I'd be the size of what Al Roker used to look like When they brought food And did the cooking segments Because I always feel like And I said to Megan I'm going to save this And she's like looking at me with his eyes Like I ruined my shoes Eat that goddamn cookie I want you So I'm going to eat it right now

01:03:52 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 1:

C is for cookies That's good enough for me

01:03:55 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Let's eat it

01:03:56 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 1:

C is for cookie That's good enough for me C is for cookie That's good enough for me Oh my god Cookie, cookie, cookie Starts with C What if she's poisoning me?

01:04:09 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not

01:04:10 - 01:04:13 | Speaker 2:

I promise you What if it was edibles And she didn't tell you

01:04:13 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god Why didn't you do that? That would have been the most fun show ever.

01:04:17 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Do it tomorrow. I'm not going to lie. These are like sugary. The frosting is like deliciously cool. These are so good.

01:04:29 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 3:

It's the butter. And let me tell you, I've never made gluten-free cookies, so those might be hot garbage.

01:04:33 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 1:

Not the way he eats them, boy.

01:04:35 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to lie.

01:04:37 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 1:

These are so good. My God.

01:04:42 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Now, don't worry. the batch makes uh nine to ten cookies and there's two sticks of butter in it so wow can i can i ask you a question can we do a good old-fashioned school bake sale remember

01:04:59 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 2:

when you're in school What do you think I could sell them for?

01:05:01 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 3:

They still do that, and I literally go to the store and buy everything. You know what's funny, though?

01:05:07 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, nobody wants my stuff.

01:05:09 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 3:

I remember bake sale. Teresa Smith and Tracy Rozak, of course.

01:05:13 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Tracy Rozak was perfect.

01:05:14 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Always got my money because pretty girls made pretty cookies. Like, Megan, look at this. Pretty girls, pretty cookies.

01:05:22 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:05:23 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 3:

If you were to sell those, how much would you charge? Like, how much do you think your cookie is worth?

01:05:27 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Good cookies are expensive.

01:05:29 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 3:

How much is your cookie worth, Megan?

01:05:30 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Four bucks a cookie. That's what I would say. Four bucks. Four dollars?

01:05:33 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 3:

They're massive. Bro, I feel like you got to charge at least five for that. Mojo, how much would you pay for the cookie? Honestly, for Megan's cookie, it might be $2,000 like that Jay Foster jewelry guy. I mean, I'd be like, I don't know. I don't know if I can afford that. Front row at TSO. Angela, what's up? Hi.

01:05:53 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:05:55 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Angela? We're enjoying. This is a good cookie. Why aren't you guys eating your cookies? I'm straight. What?

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 2:

He refuses to eat them.

01:06:01 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 3:

Angela, Kav is being insulting to Megan. He will not eat her cookie.

01:06:07 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, I would eat her cookie in a heartbeat. No, I just wanted to say that I'm super jealous because I have to be gluten-free as well. And so I was watching her live last night, and she popped the first pan of gluten-free in the oven, and she forgot to smash them down. She realized it, but then she started freaking out. I said, it's fine. Just take some parchment paper, take your glass, take them out of the oven, push them down, and they'll be good. You were getting her advice on it? Yeah.

01:06:36 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Really? That was nice of you. What do you do, Angela, that you know all this stuff?

01:06:41 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 1:

My mom and I own a restaurant, and then I just recently started a cupcake business. Wow. A restaurant. Shout it out. We own the lunch cafe in Berkeley. That place is so cute. I pass it all the time when I go to see my sister. Yeah. So we've been there for almost 18 years, and then I started a cupcake business about a year ago. So, yeah.

01:07:01 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 2:

Angela, I loved it. You truly, like, talked me off of a ledge yesterday. Thank you. I was so mad at myself that I made one batch of these gluten-free's, and the first, like, the big tray was the first one. And I halfway through looked at it and was like, well, those aren't going to cook properly. I saw the light bulb go off.

01:07:18 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 1:

I was like, yep, I've been there.

01:07:20 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 3:

How many people were on your TikTok when you were doing this?

01:07:25 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 2:

It fluctuates. It's funny. When I first start and I'm truly engaged and I was prepared, it felt like a cooking show. I had all my stuff measured out so I could really focus on talking to people. There's a good engagement on there. There's a couple hundred people in there. And then as soon as I got, not frustrated, but flustered, I guess is the better word, and I wasn't as fully engaged, you look back up again and just saw the numbers drop off. Oh, really? Yep, that was me focusing.

01:07:50 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 3:

See, I would sit there, I would watch to see the, if you started throwing things. Like, I would have watched to see, you know what I mean? Like, when you spilled all the vanilla and stuff all over the place, I would have been like, oh, this is great. I know you thought about selling your feet at any time. You're really into baking lately. Have you thought about doing something baking-wise?

01:08:13 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was really into baking before, hence the body transformation of the past year. These cookies are bad for you and very good. Can I ask you a question?

01:08:25 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 3:

I've seen this happen before. When people lose weight, they start cooking for others because they want others to eat, and it's their therapy when they're around food.

01:08:33 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Truly, I have always been like a baker, not a cook. Cooking was recently. Cooking was me trying to get healthy. I had to learn how to cook. But baking was always something that just was fun for me, and i stopped for a long time because i have zero self-control and i know that about myself it's funny you guys are like oh you keep bringing these in all the time i used to just keep them at home for me my dad and my brother and now it's fun to get rid of them still have that process and and bring joy to other people like i literally walked around downtown the other day and i was like at my parking garage i was like take some cookies and i ran over to this store that always helps me out i was like do you get you guys want some cookies like it feels a little weird but once people try it once and realize i haven't poisoned them sometimes sometimes you need to be around

01:09:18 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

food to kind of get self-control and but you do it to make it for others and then like i would i always felt like that was one of those things where like when my sisters would go on diets and stuff yeah i always felt like they would cook for me more that might be why i was heavy my whole life and they would not eat it you know why i do it on live to prove that i'm clean oh because i

01:09:39 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 2:

I think some people are like, I don't want to eat something from somebody's house. And I'm like, go watch. If people are watching, please text in how many times I wash my hands, wash the dishes, wash the counter. Like, I get people's trepidation. Hold on.

01:09:51 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask Sarah. Sarah, you were watching. Are you sure that she didn't put anything in that is gluten-free cookies?

01:09:58 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

Positive. She used paper towels. on everything i commented on like girl that is a lot of freaking paper towels you're spending a

01:10:05 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 2:

lot of money on even that portion of it but i was watching megan online for like two and a half hours so i feel like i deserve this recipe okay we're going to be selling it uh it's going to be

01:10:16 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 1:

at williams sonoma this is my get me laid recipe though it's going to be at williams sonoma and

01:10:22 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 3:

with one of those what are those things those kitchen aid cooker uh uh mixer things everybody Everybody goes crazy. Sarah, don't you think it's rude that Kev won't eat one of these things? That Kevin's been like, I'm not going to eat your cookie. I don't want to eat your cookie. It is rude.

01:10:36 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's rude.

01:10:38 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 4:

You missed what Megan just said.

01:10:39 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 1:

She spent so much time on that.

01:10:40 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 4:

Megan, what did you just say? This is your what? Get me laid.

01:10:44 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, these are my get me laid cookies.

01:10:47 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 4:

So what is it? You're afraid? Why are you not eating? I just didn't want you to miss that.

01:10:51 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, no. These are get her laid cookies. I'm going to tell you this. These are delicious cookies. What? Any single guys, any single gals?

01:11:00 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 5:

You've got to drop them off at the firehouse. That's what you've got to do. That's a good idea.

01:11:05 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 1:

You go with me.

01:11:06 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 5:

I'll go with you.

01:11:07 - 01:11:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, Jeremy? Hi.

01:11:10 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you guys doing?

01:11:11 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Good. I almost want another one, but I'm afraid that that's two sticks of butter I just put in my system. What's going on?

01:11:18 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, I just wanted to comment. I listen to you guys every morning as I'm leaving work. First time I got through because there's no contest going on. All right. But I'm actually calling from Finley, Ohio. Okay. Finley.

01:11:35 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 3:

What's the word? What's going on?

01:11:36 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to comment. Kudos to making the gluten-free cookies. I just realized that I am not able to eat gluten about a year ago. Kept throwing up, didn't know why, and come to find out I have a gluten allergy. So my fiance is an awesome baker. She is the best. She makes everything from scratch. But I wanted to comment on the $25 bottle of vanilla extract that she used.

01:12:02 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:12:04 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 2:

Now, does she buy that from the store? Because in the long run, you can make your own very easily. Oh, Jesus.

01:12:11 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 3:

This is where the show's gone.

01:12:12 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 1:

I did not think that this is where you were going with that.

01:12:15 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 3:

I thought you had something kind of.

01:12:16 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 1:

Also, I feel very judged. Okay, sir. I made cookies last night at like 10 o'clock. Can I just use the store-bought one time, please?

01:12:24 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, you can by all means. I figured I'd give you a helpful hint because, like I said, my fiance is an awesome baker. She went to culinary school and everything. She is phenomenal. But save yourself some money in the future, and the cookies taste a lot better. Thank you. All right. I appreciate it.

01:12:42 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. We've turned into the cooking segment show. I never thought that this would ever happen. Oh, Christ. Go back to this getting her laid. Let's talk more.

01:12:53 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 5:

I like this song a lot. Mojo in the Morning Show. So I had an interesting Valentine's Day weekend. And I had a friend come through. I was contemplating what I was going to do or if I was going to do anything. And someone popped up. And I'm going to tell you this. First off, she had a date with a guy. She went out to eat. And then she came over to my house for dessert.

01:13:20 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so her date clearly did not go well.

01:13:23 - 01:13:34 | Speaker 5:

And I mean, I don't know if it went well or didn't go. I just know she wanted to end the night a different way. And I was happy to oblige her request. But not only did I oblige.

01:13:34 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Stop. You are such a hero. I just want to let you know.

01:13:38 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 5:

Not all heroes wear capes. Okay. But this one, this one does. But speaking of requests, she requested that I do something. And I need to know from you all, because you're my family and my friends. uh is this even like world like should this happen in any world not only on earth but like in all of the universes she asked me to like pay for her parking and if that does sound weird here's it so where i live at in my apartment complex there is a parking garage that has like the what do you call it the metropolis is that what you call it oh the app that you have to

01:14:11 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 1:

register your credit card on and it just can you don't have to do anything it just scans your

01:14:14 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 5:

license plate when you leave and charges you so yeah they have that option for you to pull in and do that whole thing okay or you can park on the street you don't have to pay okay i mean maybe you feel safer if it's in a parking lot or maybe it's a situation where you could get a ticket some people have gotten tickets before but it's rare that happens okay and i give all this information she asks me to pay for her parking and i didn't do it but am i wrong for that or Or should that even be a requirement if somebody's coming over to your place? Like, what are the rules here? Am I crazy for thinking that's crazy?

01:14:53 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I would say no. She's responsible for her own parking, especially if there's a free option.

01:15:00 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 2:

disagree really absolutely disagree if you're inviting me over i'm not paying to visit you you've been you sent out there's a free option yes but he's just said people get ticketed there which let's be honest downtown detroit loves to ticket people whether it's justified or not i will start this fight with the city i do not care uh that and you never know if your car is going to get broken into versus in a lot which makes a huge difference and um getting sideswept and stuff so if you were meeting somebody at a restaurant megan and you had to pay to park would you make them pay for your parking that's different we're both driving separately you're not inviting me over to my my place i would still say no so because i wouldn't be put off if i was in her

01:15:45 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 1:

situation that i had to pay for parking if i knew that that was this if i knew that going into it

01:15:51 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 5:

that that was a possibility so megan you invited us to come over to your place not this year jingle ball but last year jingle ball so you're saying i should have asked you to pay for my parking

01:16:00 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 2:

uh so i pay i think i paid for almost everybody's parking who's ever came over to my place even when my brother stays the night for the weekend i will pay for his parking you are so nice i missed that memo can i collect in arrears no i think this is crazy um i but i will say it's only when you park on my parking garage so if you park somewhere else i never pay for it but if you

01:16:24 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 5:

park in my parking garage so maybe this is a question if you are inviting 70 times and you

01:16:30 - 01:16:36 | Speaker 2:

literally ran away from me at my building i don't remember that okay all right bitch all right

01:16:36 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 5:

so maybe this is the question if you're inviting someone over to your house what are the rules i'm a firm believer in maybe you have some water for them you can ask them what their favorite drink is if they're going to be having dinner ask them what they like to eat i feel like there are rules i don't feel like you coming over to my house the rules should be that i should pay for you to park like i mean that just sounds crazy to me but i don't know let's let's go and see what the people think shay shay you there what do you think shay shay you there what's up what's up good morning give it to me straight shay

01:17:13 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 4:

kev you you're the mvp i'm rooting for you my guy but i don't i don't know why i don't know why this chick want all this special treatment if y'all not dating if y'all not on some more serious terms everybody know what it is you don't need to get the girlfriend and i'm dating you treatment come over there get it how you live real quick because we know what this is ain't

01:17:35 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

going about your business say a guy invites you over are you paying to visit him yeah if i want

01:17:42 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 4:

convenience because i know i'm not expecting if i'm not emotionally attached and there's no expectations like we all know what's going on here it's the same with like if we go out to eat or something like that we're not trying to make this like a relationship it's not i'm trying to you know go further with you it's just a good time that's it

01:18:01 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 2:

now shay i respect you for calling in but does it hurt your soul to lie this much

01:18:05 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 4:

no not at all

01:18:08 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 5:

all right let's see let's see let's see what whitney has to say whitney do you agree or

01:18:14 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 3:

disagree should i have to pay or no um i you definitely should be a gentleman and play please please do not listen to shay and it's just crazy to me i i 100 agree with megan i think it's your house i never expect to have to pay for parking going over someone's house ever like that's crazy now if we're meeting at a restaurant or something if i have to pay a couple dollars for valet because i choose to do valet that's my choice but if there's no choice but to pay for parking at your

01:18:48 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 2:

place in order for my car there is a choice when i get up there is a remember he said there's a

01:18:52 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 3:

choice in order for my car to still be out there in the morning when i get dressed that's not because he's saying it's not safe out there you're also making a very big assumption that

01:19:04 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 2:

you're spending the night if I came in right if I came in and I said this guy invited me over to bake cookies and I got there and he made me pay for my parking everybody in this room would be like dump this guy this is so disrespectful yada yada yada like I don't I don't get why you're

01:19:28 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

defending this okay i i actually wouldn't you lie i absolutely would not you lie through your teeth nope i mean if we're talking like you had to valet in a fancy private building and it was 30 bucks i might have a different but how much is it i don't know okay so it might be a couple bucks you're or coins you're throwing in a meter or whatever i mean so for me for mine It's $25 a night. It is? Yes.

01:20:00 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 3:

that's fancy all right so look because when you brought up every garage around me of parking and paying for someone to come over mike brings up a great point mike you there what's your point

01:20:10 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 2:

yeah what's up guys um so to kind of back my boy kev and and kind of contradict megan i mean she's saying like oh if you're inviting somebody over you know you're paying for are you paying to go over to somebody's house and i mean i don't know about you guys but every time i leave anywhere from my house it costs me money right so by that logic if i if i go drive over to kevin's house that's costing me money whether there's parking fees or not i had to buy gas you know whatever it took to get there right but we're talking about added expenses those are those

01:20:52 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 4:

are expected expenses right we all know it's impossible to drive a vehicle without paying for it but we're talking about an additional expense that is not normal well I mean we all

01:21:02 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 2:

know it's impossible to park in downtown Detroit without right which is why I think it's part of

01:21:07 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 4:

my responsibility as somebody who moved down there like I know that this is an added toll

01:21:11 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 3:

when people want to visit me fair points fair points April April's on the line April what do you uh what do you have to say about this situation listen so is she charging you to

01:21:27 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 2:

park in her garage she don't know it's free it's free parking there there then it's free parking where you're at um all right it is uh mojo in the morning

01:21:43 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 1:

uh i saw this on buzzfeed and i thought this actually is a really good topic and i'm gonna give you guys a little bit of time to think about this. What is the pettiest thing that you've ever done? That was the title of this BuzzFeed. What is the pettiest thing that you have ever done? And I will give you an example of my petty thing, but then I also want to read for you guys some of the response that they got on BuzzFeed, which I thought were priceless. I thought some of these were really, really good. Pettiest thing that I've ever done, and I know I'd probably do petty things every single day, a little passive aggressive moments. This was one way back when, when I was just dating my now wife, Chelsea, I lived in an apartment called Eastridge apartment complex. And there was a guy that lived in the apartment complex. I was in 1302. He was in 1420. And I knew this because I used to call him 1420. That was always the name that I called him. he would always flirt with Chelsea and it was one of those complexes where you had a gate and you had to get buzzed into the gate but you couldn't call a number to get buzzed in I had to physically go and push a buzzer to hit the thing there was no technology back in this day and Chelsea used to get mad that I wouldn't give her a key to my apartment because we were not key official yet So this guy, 1420, would go and open the gate for her and then basically try to move in on Chelsea Shawna is her middle name. And I used to get really pissed off about this. So the maintenance guy was a friend of mine, and here's where the pettiness came into play. The guy had a convertible, and one time his convertible was illegally parked right by the front area of where our apartment complex was, and they had a sprinkler that used to go off all the time. And they never would let you park there because the sprinkler would just start spraying the pavement. So I called the maintenance guy and I asked him to turn the sprinklers on because his top was down on his car. And it sprinkled the entire, it was like the whole time on top of his car for probably 30 minutes or 40 minutes before he came outside and he was all upset. So that was the pettiest thing that I ever did.

01:24:09 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to the maintenance man though. Yeah, he was really, he was good.

01:24:12 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

He was great. Here are my favorites from BuzzFeed. This one is titled The Split Trousers. One time my friend said something that annoyed me, so I snuck into their house and unstitched all the crotches in their trousers, making them fragile. They kept splitting on them. Here's the plus one. I like this one, too, of the pettiest thing you've ever done, and I want you to call us up, 844-MOJO-LIVE, or text 95500 with the pettiest thing you've ever done. The plus one. I went to my ex's wedding as the best man's plus one. Could you imagine being the groom? How would you like to be the groom at that wedding and seeing your ex with the best man? That's not a best man, by the way.

01:25:00 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

That's the real story.

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The surprise delivery. This F-boy that I know keeps sending me nudes on Snapchat, so I screenshot them, printed them out, and mailed them to his mother. He changed his number.

01:25:14 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 4:

These are like...

01:25:16 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 2:

Are they good?

01:25:16 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 4:

They're so good.

01:25:18 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

The orange juice. A coworker that I hate so much would drink all my orange juice that I put in our fridge at work. I decided that I was going to get them back. I gave them their own version of orange juice. What it was, was water mixed with mac and cheese powder. That's a great one. Is that not a great one? Just put that in. I'll do that for your mimosas.

01:25:46 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 5:

Don't you dare.

01:25:48 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 2:

And then the moldy cheese is a good one too. My ex thought that it would be funny to cheat on me. By the way, nobody thinks it's funny to cheat on you. They do it because they want to get their dilly-dilly. Um, so I hid all types of moldy blue cheese in their car. He only used this car on the weekends and when he got into it, the cheese had melted all over in the hot sun. The car smelled so bad. He could not get the smell out. Oh, the moldy cheese smell. Do you guys have a petty thing that you guys have ever done?

01:26:19 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there's many. My favorite. You guys know how little I drink, right? Like I never really get drunk, but one time I got absolutely smashed. and my brother, his girlfriend at the time, me and my boyfriend at the time had all gone out for breakfast the next day and I was still like maybe a little drunk, very hungover and they kept making fun of me the entire breakfast. Well, I was done and I had one piece of bacon left over and my brother just was harping on me over and over and over and over again and he said, can I have that piece of bacon? And I shoved it into my mouth and I chewed it for over 10 minutes gagging the whole time. I did not want it. I was trying not to puke on the table. But he was not getting that piece of paper. That's so good. I love that one. That's so good.

01:27:05 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 2:

What's the pettiest thing that you guys have ever done?

01:27:08 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 5:

God, I mean, I've done a lot of petty things. But the first one that pops into my mind is, and this was a while ago, but when I was dating that guy who was a musician. and um when he when i found out that he you know had cheated on me um his songs would i was working at a radio station and his songs would still his band was like kind of sort of popular at the time his songs would come up in the system and i ran the board in the morning before the show and so i would see their songs come up and go delete delete they never got spins they never got spins

01:27:40 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 2:

that's good did the program director ever notice that you were deleting songs i think he probably

01:27:47 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 5:

He probably did, but he got it. He was cool.

01:27:50 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

Kev, was the most petty thing that you've ever done, done to me? Because I feel like I keep getting all your texts and tweets and... What you mean? You and your Caitlin Clark, anti-Caitlin Clark feelings these days. You keep pushing this narrative. What's the pettiest thing that you've done?

01:28:08 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't, I mean, I don't know, man. I'm not good on the spot. I probably, I don't know. I'm not really petty like that. You're not petty? Oh, good for you. Honestly, my motto is, what's my motto? Because I say it to Sherelle every time. It's something like, it's cool when they do it. It's a problem when I do it. So I'm the same person. I will give you the same energy that you give me. And I guess maybe that's petty. So if you do something that I don't like, and then I do it the same, and you don't like it, that's my petty.

01:28:38 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 2:

I think he's petty with the text that he keeps sending me.

01:28:41 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the Asia Wilson text that soon?

01:28:43 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes. First player in the history of WNBA. This guy cared nothing about the WNBA until Kaitlyn Clark got into it. But now thinks that this girl has done nothing for the WNBA. It made him a fan.

01:28:57 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 3:

Zach, didn't I say I was going to Las Vegas last year when they were playing the Liberty in the championship?

01:29:01 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That is true. I don't buy it for a second, Zach. Don't lie for him. Don't be petty. Clearly. Hannah, what's up?

01:29:08 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 3:

What a woman named Tom.

01:29:10 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. So in high school, a few of my friends and I were friends with this really snobby girl. And she ended up getting a new car. Her parents bought her a brand new one and kind of was making fun of ours, saying how hers is better than ours, blah, blah, blah. But long story short, my friends and I took turns like months apart and reported her license plate, and we got her license suspended.

01:29:37 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What did you report it for?

01:29:38 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 1:

just like bad driving we did like a different thing each time but we had like enough reports and then she was like oh my god guys my license is suspended like i don't know what i did and then she ended up having to like take a class i think oh that's bad but it's so good it's the

01:29:56 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

mean girl you got back kavin what did you do what's the pettiest

01:30:00 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 1:

thing you did hey guys how you doing the pettiest thing i did i got cheated on by my ex by a girl so i um it was really around like valentine's day so i called the reservations that i saw in her email that i still had access to canceled the reservations canceled the hotel room that they were in i also canceled their plane ticket to la so i canceled the flight and deleted all her emails and everything off of her.

01:30:32 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 4:

Kevin, she did you dirty, so you did her dirtier.

01:30:38 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, dirtier and extra, yeah.

01:30:40 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever feel bad about that or no?

01:30:43 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 1:

Never, never to this day. I'm actually kind of proud of it, to be honest.

01:30:48 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 4:

It is kind of a proud moment. That's a lot of work to go do that. May, you're being voice disguised. Hi.

01:30:54 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 3:

How you doing?

01:30:55 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 4:

Good. What was the pettiest thing you've ever done?

01:30:58 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 3:

My ex used to cheat on me all the time, and he used to always tell me he was going to the store and never returned. So one day, we had company. He was like, your cousin at the door. He let my cousin in. He told me he was about to go to the store, and when he left, it wasn't my cousin. We started baking cookies.

01:31:14 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 5:

Whoa. Oh, that's premeditated.

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't know that I would call that petty.

01:31:20 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that that's petty. Yeah.

01:31:22 - 01:31:23 | Unknown:

Crazy.

01:31:25 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. Look, that's what he gets for cheating. I like how you don't.

01:31:32 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 4:

Who is it that you're afraid of hearing this, that you want to be Voiceless guys?

01:31:37 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my family, everybody.

01:31:39 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Your family, everybody. My pastor.

01:31:42 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 3:

I love your laugh, Nate.

01:31:43 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 4:

The laugh might give it away, though. What's up, Aaron? Hi. It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:31:49 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you?

01:31:50 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's the pettiest thing you've ever done?

01:31:52 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 6:

I had a roommate that kept eating all my food. and he used to have to dress up for work where he'd wear like a suit and tie.

01:31:59 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:32:00 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 6:

So every couple months, I would take his suit to a seamstress and have him take it in a half inch. So after about three or four months, he started going on this dress diet because his suit wouldn't fit in it. Oh my God!

01:32:15 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 4:

That's the best thing I've ever had! You win. You win. King Petty is you, Aaron. That is amazing. Did you ever tell him?

01:32:27 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 6:

No. Oh, no. No, no.

01:32:29 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That is actually one of the most brilliant things I've ever heard. Oh, geez. Curtis, what's the pettiest thing you've ever done?

01:32:39 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 5:

How's it going, guys? First off, lifetime listener, first time caller. Yeah!

01:32:44 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 6:

Curtis on the phone!

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Welcome, buddy.

01:32:47 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 5:

So I was with a girl for a long time, and in this relationship, she we was looking for other girls we were like seeking the third but it never worked out because she was crazy and after a while she ended up cheating on me in the relationship so during the process of us trying to work it out and uh after her cheating one of the girls that she had pursued before that we had pursued before i ended up started working with her at my job and one thing led to another i had to put it down so you did it you just did it by yourself I had to. I had to. Without the third.

01:33:23 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:33:24 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, of course. She didn't deserve it. She already had her fixes and everything else prior to. I earned this one.

01:33:30 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 4:

I earned it. I like that's your earning. That's your way to justify cheating on her. Tara, this is a big one. I'll end with you. Tara, what's the pettiest thing that you've ever done? Your voice is guys.

01:33:42 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 2:

I dated a guy for 17 months, and he was still seeing his ex-wife at the time we were dating. I didn't know what I found out. and I wrote a letter to cancel his season U of M football tickets that he had for years and years and was a placeholder.

01:33:57 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 4:

Whoa, wait. So you were cheating with a married guy. He never would leave his wife.

01:34:04 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. He was divorced from her but was still seeing her.

01:34:08 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so divorced but still seeing – he was cheating on you. So you called or wrote a letter to U of M to cancel his family's long-running U of M tickets? Yes. Did he know that you did this, or did he think it was just an error?

01:34:24 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 2:

No, it was a surprise to him.

01:34:26 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 4:

And by the way, you'd cancel it right before their best season they ever had. That's the best thing. That's awesome.

01:34:33 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 2:

It's been a while. It was a while ago, so.

01:34:36 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 4:

That was good. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. All these are very petty people, and we love you for listening. Time now for Am I the A-hole? Do you have the right to tell somebody who they can and cannot date? Shelby, what's going on? Am I the a-hole? Tell us what's going on here.

01:34:54 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So my best friend matched with a guy.

01:35:00 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 3:

on the dating apps that i used to that i used to see okay um she didn't know that i used to hook up with him but she saw that i follow him on instagram so she ended up asking me oh you know this guy um you know asking if i knew anything about him if he has any red flags or anything like that and i didn't tell her much about him but i did tell her that i would appreciate it if she didn't see him because we used to hook up.

01:35:32 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you told her that you guys hooked up with each other?

01:35:36 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 3:

At that point, I did. When she was asking, do I know anything about him? I said, well, yes. I really, you know, it makes me uncomfortable.

01:35:46 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 1:

I would really prefer if you didn't. Do you still have feelings for him?

01:35:53 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 3:

No, but it's just, to me, it's just, it's awkward. it's messy it's like you know i'm done with him and i would like to keep him in my past and this

01:36:05 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 1:

is my best friend so if they start dating that's just weird all right interesting so so you're asking are you an a-hole because you're telling your friend that you don't want her to go out with a guy that you went out with even though she matched with him i yeah i i asked her

01:36:25 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 3:

if the roles were reversed I would understand sure

01:36:31 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 1:

alright so let's open up the phone lines to 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I don't know if anybody's got an opinion on this I think everybody probably does but I would love to know if anybody's ever been in this situation where somebody that they knew possibly was going to date somebody that you had been with what do you guys think do you guys think that does Shelby have the right to do that, or is Shelby an a-hole for doing that?

01:36:59 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 2:

I think Shelby an a-hole because I feel like the reason why she's doing this is because she still might have feelings for the guy. You think so? Because if you don't care about the person, then...

01:37:06 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

So you don't buy the whole she doesn't want to see the guy?

01:37:08 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't buy the guy. I just don't think you can tell people who to date or who not to date. I think you could... I don't know. I just don't think that you could do that.

01:37:18 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm with you. I think that i if her and i believe her that she doesn't want to see the guy but i think it would be uncomfortable for your friend to think about the fact that you actually had sex with him yes like i would have as a as a friend i would probably not want to be dating it you know what i mean

01:37:36 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 7:

or even you guys are all gonna hang out at some point that's gonna be really awkward yeah and if

01:37:42 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 2:

you like somebody before who's to say right around them the vibe is right you might not

01:37:46 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 1:

What is the girl version of Eskimo Brothers, whatever it is? Eskimo twins?

01:37:51 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

The first thing that came to my mind cannot be said. Really? What is it? Princess Pals.

01:37:58 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:37:58 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 2:

The first word is in princess.

01:38:00 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Oh, wow. Okay. Joanne, what do you think? Is Shelby an a-hole?

01:38:10 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. I don't think she's an a-hole.

01:38:13 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 1:

Do you agree with her by saying to her friend that you shouldn't date him?

01:38:16 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 4:

um i don't i don't know i think she should just allow him today because if she doesn't have feelings for him anymore i feel like you know on the best friend end don't let a best friend

01:38:28 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 1:

keep it from your husband interesting that's an interesting thought uh jordan what are your

01:38:33 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 5:

thoughts i kind of feel like a lot of the guys are coming to say that she is the a**hole a lot

01:38:40 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 1:

hold on hold on i gotta i gotta dump you for a second here we're gonna have you start all over

01:38:45 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 5:

again what did you want to say um i said that uh i feel like a lot of guys say that she is

01:38:53 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

the word was that you said if you don't think it was that i don't think we gave her proper

01:39:05 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 2:

instructions she probably just thought it i think it was her the word is something

01:39:09 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 1:

you know what the bit the bit is called am i the a-hole so i kind of understand why you would

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 8:

We don't even say that.

01:39:16 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

All right, well, Brittany, hello. Hi, Brittany.

01:39:19 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 8:

Hello.

01:39:20 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 1:

How are you? What's going on?

01:39:22 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 8:

Don't say the real word.

01:39:23 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't say the actual word. Use a-hole. Yeah, what do you think? Is she an a-hole?

01:39:29 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 4:

She's not an a-hole. I think she's looking out for a friend because she was already there and tried it, and obviously it wasn't great if she didn't say.

01:39:37 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but two people's connections are so very different. Her friend could have an incredible connection.

01:39:44 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 4:

you know i don't think that's why she was doing it six months from now or nine months from now and you know it'd be a complete disaster like i experienced myself

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

um alex what do you think am i the a-hole do you think that shelby has

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 2:

any right to say this i don't feel like she has any right to say that because it depends how long if you don't have great feelings for that person i really don't feel like that's the thing i'm with my current boyfriend of two years and i am pregnant with his child and i that wouldn't

01:40:18 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 4:

happened if i wouldn't get with my friend's ex wow was it weird for you to know that your friend

01:40:24 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 2:

was naked with this guy not really because we've done it with him together if that makes sense

01:40:32 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 4:

oh yeah is lydia smelling that right yeah i would like to have a threesome yeah so you stole him

01:40:40 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 2:

not really because she broke up with him yeah well by the way is it weird is it

01:40:46 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 4:

is it weird to know that the man that you married or with long right you're married right

01:40:53 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 2:

No, hopefully soon. Oh, so soon. We've been together for about two years now.

01:40:57 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 4:

Was it weird to see him with your friend while you guys were all in the room together?

01:41:03 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 2:

They really weren't, like, a couple couple. Like, he did things for her, but she wasn't, like, that relationship type to, if that makes sense.

01:41:15 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 4:

You are a lady. Yeah, are you Pogo sisters with anyone else? Pogo.

01:41:19 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 2:

Mine?

01:41:20 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 4:

Is that it?

01:41:21 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 2:

My friend's group is really awkward.

01:41:24 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 4:

I will bet you. What's going on? Samantha, actually, you dated your friend's ex, right?

01:41:32 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes, sir.

01:41:33 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and was it a good thing or a bad thing?

01:41:38 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 3:

It turned out to be really good. The thing is, in my defense, I told her that this was going to be my backup dude when I was married. Like, I was like, if I break up with my husband, that's going to be my man. And then she went and got pregnant by him. And then they broke up five years later. And then me and him bought a house together and are dating.

01:42:03 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 4:

And you're, wait a second. And so does he ever get his kid?

01:42:08 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he had full custody of his kid because she's a PLS.

01:42:12 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:42:12 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 3:

So you're no longer friends.

01:42:14 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Now she's actually stepmother to the guy's kid.

01:42:19 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 3:

She ghosted me, basically. Like, I told her, like, I'm hanging out with him. And then she was like, who is this via text? I was like, are you kidding me right now? You know who this is.

01:42:29 - 01:42:29 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:42:29 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm just letting you know I'm dating this dude. And that was that. And then she just never talked to me again.

01:42:36 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. The backup man, while you have a husband, though, is where I checked out. Isn't that crazy? It's different. I think, Shelby, you do this. You want your friend not to date the guy? Just talk about him a lot. You start talking about him a lot, it's going to make her feel uncomfortable. Unless you're in that same friendship base of these last two callers that we just talked to. All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. So I have a son, Luke, who is in college. And people know, they've heard Luke over the years. He's my baby and I baby him and, you know, do pretty much what every mom and dad does to their baby. Treats them probably better than you treat the other kids. so I had something I wanted to do for him and I but I needed to get his you know permission on to do this because I needed him to like kind of figure out if he can get time to do it it was a sporting event thing that I wanted to take him to so I called him up and he kept bumping my calls now I don't know his college schedule I have no idea when he has class and when he doesn't have class his mom does but I couldn't get a hold of her he's text me back and he says hey I'm in class right now and I said walk out of class and he says I can't and I said Luke you go to Michigan State University there's 8,000 kids in these classrooms do you think any your teacher doesn't even know who you are you know what I mean I'm like just get up and walk out of class you know or you know this is important this is important stuff and it made me realize how sad I was because I don't know if you were ever one of these parents uh and Shannon I ask you this or Kev uh with your kids do you ever call your kids out of class because when Luke was in little school, like he went to Marist and then he went to Notre Dame Prep if there were times where I just wanted to have lunch with him I would occasionally just call the school and say he's got a dentist appointment, I gotta pick Luke up and I would grab him and we would go and grab lunch absolutely

01:44:27 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 1:

I was the kid who left for a dentist appointment and then got taken back to school oh see, no

01:44:34 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 4:

y'all are nice but what are you gonna

01:44:38 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

Like, I always think, what are the kids going to remember? Going back to school or, like, the day they had a dentist appointment and then got to pick a place to go out to lunch. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:44:46 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 4:

You always take them somewhere.

01:44:47 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Like, what are they doing at school? Another worksheet. My dad does not love me. We've heard this very publicly on the air, on this show, over and over and over again. You know what you need to do? We need to call your dad and have him.

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 3:

him come pick you up from work early yeah that would be really cool do a make good in your adult life are you going to the canton office today please pick me up i want i want to know what

01:45:11 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 2:

you called your kid in sick for like what did you guys do and you know tell us what what that's all about or are you the type of person because i know somebody that actually will go shopping they'll be at the store and they will call their kid to come down to the office to show their kids something that they were going to buy for them at the mall.

01:45:31 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 3:

That's a little too much.

01:45:33 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 1:

Man, so for me... Nah, that's not...

01:45:36 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

But what if it's something that you want? That's a little too crazy, but taking them to lunch... Who did it?

01:45:40 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 1:

You or Chelsea?

01:45:41 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 2:

Not me, no. Somebody that I know that did it. So Chelsea did it? No, it wasn't Chelsea. Oh, God. No, Chelsea's actually very mindful of them being in school. I can see that, yeah. She was a stay-at-home mom. She wanted them in school, but she did take them from time to time to do fun things a lot of times.

01:45:55 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Elementary school. Both of mine are still in elementary school, so I feel like next year When Lucy goes to middle school, I'm not going to do that anymore because it does get harder and harder for them to catch up.

01:46:04 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 1:

Man, my favorite thing, you know what I do? I don't even, I'm not even polite about it. So when you go to at least Josiah's school, when you sign your child out earlier, they have this book where you write your name, the date, the student's name, the time you're taking her out, and the reason. It's none of y'all business why I'm picking up my kid. So in the reason section, I put vibes. Vibes. And what do they say to the vibes? They don't say nothing. That's how I know they're not reading it. Why do they know why I'm picking my child up?

01:46:31 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 2:

Unbelievable. Vibes, bro. And those vibes could be? Whatever I want. Anything you want. See, I always come up with some doctor's name, and it's usually not somebody that they know. What's up, Allie? How you doing?

01:46:44 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 6:

I'm good. First time, long time. Hey, Allie's on the phone. So I was a student at Michigan State University, and I've been out for about five years now, But I had some of those classes where there were, like, probably, I mean, 500 kids in a room. But I'm telling you right now, I feel for your son because of the one person who got up during class to leave. People would look at that person like they had the freaking plague.

01:47:12 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my.

01:47:13 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 6:

Like, people would look at them like, why are you leaving?

01:47:16 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 2:

So that's the reason why Luke didn't want to get up. He didn't want to look like he was, you know.

01:47:20 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 6:

So I can attest to that. All right. All right. I get it. He kind of looks like that.

01:47:24 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 2:

Go green, by the way.

01:47:26 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 6:

Go White. Have a good day.

01:47:28 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 2:

You too. Take care. What's up, Jacqueline? What's going on? Hi, Jacqueline.

01:47:33 - 01:47:34 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:47:36 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 7:

I'm a teacher, and I love when parents do this. I mean, I teach middle school, so it's definitely harder for them to catch up. But I had a sixth grader leave to go to a Tigers playoff game, and it was the highlight of his year. He's still talking about it.

01:47:49 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I would do that with the boys all the time. If the Tigers had a day game or they had, like, a playoff. Like, those are moments that you never get back with your kid. I took the kids to spring training a lot. So I would take them, you know, to go down and take a trip. I think those one-on-one trips that you get to do, like a dad or mom trips, are so good. And I'm glad to hear a teacher says that that's okay. What about taking your kid out to go to the Cheesecake Factory? Is that okay?

01:48:15 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 3:

To look at the vagina legs. Just tell me at the dentist appointment.

01:48:18 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, just tell him. Exactly. Yeah. By the way, that's why Dr. Reynolds at Reynolds Orthodontics is going to be my excuse for everything. I got to go to Reynolds Orthodontist. What's going on, Dennis?

01:48:28 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how you doing?

01:48:29 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 2:

Good. We're talking about what was it that you called your kid in sick for?

01:48:34 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 4:

Actually, we were real close with this teacher. He was in sixth grade, my oldest son. And I had to go pick up a new car down in South Carolina, but I was going to go by myself. And the teacher said, well, just take your son. I'm like, but he's got school. That was so much more important. And they said, nah, just take them. It'll be a good experience. So we went away for a day and a half, two days, to drive down the South Carolina, pick up a car.

01:49:00 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 2:

Think about that.

01:49:01 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 3:

That's a life lesson.

01:49:02 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 2:

That is. And you get sick. Anytime that I would cross the border of any state, it was always exciting to me as a kid.

01:49:08 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. That was a blast.

01:49:10 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 2:

That's cool.

01:49:10 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 4:

I had a lot of fun driving through the mountains.

01:49:12 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I'm learning that the teachers want your kids out of school. Basically. These last two. What's up, Daniela?

01:49:19 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah, we took all of my kids, four girls, out of school for one of them's sixth birthday to Chicago to the aquarium.

01:49:29 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's awesome. See, that's a learning moment right there, the aquarium. You taught them something cool. Yeah. And American Girl Doll. Did you take them to American Girl Doll, too?

01:49:38 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 5:

No, just the aquarium. That's all we had time for because we did the day trip there back.

01:49:44 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think that's a learning experience going to anything in Chicago if you're going there because of the Magnificent Mile. They learn math when they see you buying something for yourself. What's up, Sean? Hey, how you guys doing? What's happening? Nothing. I just wanted to... I agree with Kevin when he said, like, why do the schools and everything need to agree? Like, why do they need to know why we're picking our kids up? Like, if I just feel like picking my kid up and going to McDonald's for the day, I'm going to do it.

01:50:10 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 1:

Exactly.

01:50:12 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 2:

It's none of their damn business. It's none of their business why I'm picking up my kids. Like, I'm on my way to take my kids to school right now. And it's like, you know, if I feel like turning around and going home, I will. Sean, turn that car around, Sean.

01:50:24 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 1:

Tell the kids they've got sicked with vibes.

01:50:27 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 2:

see you sean take care buddy see you guys have a good day you too man what's up marie how you

01:50:40 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 1:

doing hey how are you good we're talking about what you call your kid out of school for uh first

01:50:46 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

off first time long um i'm actually taking my daughter out of school on thursday to go to Taylor Swift in Toronto. You and Lydia. Super mom. Yeah, I know. She just told me that.

01:51:01 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Lydia's going to be going. Lydia, by the way, is going to have her mom call her in sick for going to Taylor Swift.

01:51:08 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 4:

Heck yeah.

01:51:09 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 1:

Have fun.

01:51:10 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 4:

I will. Thank you.

01:51:12 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 1:

That's cool. What's up, Malika? Or Malisha?

01:51:15 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 4:

Malisha.

01:51:16 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 1:

Malisha. What's up, Malisha?

01:51:18 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Hi. First time, long time. Hey, Malisha's on the phone. so in seventh grade i took my son and his friend uh to universal studios for the day oh man you're like the best mom it was fun they're less crowded during the week so honestly that's like the

01:51:40 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 1:

greatest mom of the year award right there you deserve that one take them out i like that you know what and i will say this to you and i've told this to numerous friends of mine with kids my kids will remember those moments like this when you go away and do these special things with them way more than they'll remember whatever they learned at school that day and i know that you know you should probably not take them out if they got a big test but if you make arrangements

01:52:07 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 3:

with the school ahead of time and if it's not super frequent yeah absolutely and there were

01:52:12 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 1:

moments honestly and i know this is going to sound bad there were moments where literally i was just driving by luke's school and i was like i want to have lunch with him and i took him out to lunch And he would be like, everything okay, Dad? Like, he would get, you know, my kids always think the worst. Like, what happened? And I'd be like, no, we're going to lunch. We're going to Great Lakes Crossing, and we're going to have ourselves some Orange Julius.

01:52:34 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 3:

And a little Rainforest Cafe. That was Orange Julius.

01:52:37 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 1:

That scares me, by the way, Rainforest Cafe. Every time that freaking storm comes on. I don't like an elephant. It would scare the crap out of me.

01:52:46 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:52:49 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 1:

Last dirty of the day. It's been a good dirty day. It's been an okay dirty day. Light dirty? The ring isn't fully around the tub?

01:52:57 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 3:

It's not that dirty? It was President's Day. I just feel like yesterday, it was just quiet.

01:53:02 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 2:

You know what that means. Today, something crazy is going to happen. Tomorrow's going to happen as well.

01:53:05 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 3:

This is how it works, I know. I do want to give you an update on a story that we've talked about multiple times over the past couple of months. The woman who said that she was sexually assaulted by Diddy and Jay-Z back in 2000. She says she was just 13 years old at the time, has voluntarily withdrawn her lawsuit. So this is the lawsuit that was filed back in December by a Jane Doe who said this happened at a MTV VMA after party. And the lawsuit was withdrawn with prejudice, which just so you understand means she cannot file it again. Like she withdrew it. She's done. She can't revisit this. Now, there was no settlement here between this Jane Doe, Diddy and Jay-Z. Both artists have always denied all of the allegations since this lawsuit was first filed. And in response to all of this, Jay-Z has filed his own lawsuit against the attorney behind it, Tony Busby, accusing him of defamation, civil extortion, and intentional infliction of emotional distress because of the case. And that piece is interesting to me because he says he's pissed that the lawsuit was strategically filed the night before Blue Ivy's movie premiere. And that resulted in $20 million in lost business contracts and immense emotional distress with the lawsuit being part of a deliberate, what he says, smear campaign against him. Accusations. These are not accusations. It's false. Kanye West and Bianca Sensori do not have a prenup, which is interesting info going around in the wake of all of the divorce rumors about them. Because they're not legally married, right? I don't know. I don't think they're legally married. Listen to his own advice in Gold Digger? I don't know if they are or not. But I don't think they're legally married, so she won't get anything. And I don't even... Well, here's what's interesting. In California, assets and debts are split equally. So, she could actually owe him money.

01:54:55 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God, this is getting crazy.

01:54:57 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that only if they're married? And in California... has common law marriage, but they still don't fall under because they haven't been together that long. They've only been

01:55:03 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 4:

married, quote-unquote, together for, what,

01:55:05 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 3:

two, three years? I thought they got married with just a religious ceremony and not a legal ceremony because he was still married to Kim Kardashian when he got married. Does anybody have any idea?

01:55:13 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I just like the music. I don't know. Also, he said he had a net worth of $2.7 billion because of his music library and Yeezy. However, Forbes is estimating his net worth closer to $400 million. Forbes, if you want. Big, big, big, big discrepancy there. Their reps continue to deny that they're getting divorced they say they are very much still i'm damn sure

01:55:33 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 1:

not by the divorcer if i'm worth 2.7 billion they did legally get married in 2022 did they yeah

01:55:39 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 3:

after he finalized his divorce from kim kardashian so they had their ceremony where they got married before the divorce was finalized and then they did a legal one afterwards we locked in for life

01:55:50 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 4:

if it ain't no prenup and lastly what is the perfect amount of time to have sex there is a psychologist named Dr. Kansas Hargens, who is answering that question. And by the way, first off, she said, it's not how long you're baking cookies. What's important is how good it is. Some facts here. The average couple has sex once a week, but the relationship between frequency and satisfaction is a bell curve. There is a threshold where beyond more than one time per week sex does not equal more satisfaction in the relationship or otherwise so they this study found that men and women say spending an average of 24 minutes on sex is normal to them so that is the nationwide average for both men and women broken down further women find 27 minutes to be the optimal duration for sexual experiences while men prefer slightly longer in the bedroom at 33

01:56:52 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 1:

minutes oh okay give a take a five yeah we got some friends in the studio right now friends from

01:56:59 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 2:

pokey pokey no i wouldn't call you a friend i would call you an enemy because you get all of my money i'd go to pokey pokey literally all of the time it's so good awesome what's up

01:57:12 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 5:

01:57:14 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 1:

Good, man. Listen, first off, thank you, first and foremost, for giving the $1,000. Well, first off, giving everybody a full stomach every day, but the $1,000 actually hooked up our winners for the Rock, Paper, Scissors competition last Friday. That was incredible. Thank you. place. You know what? It's pretty much like a build-your-own sushi bowl. So all premium fish that's sushi-grade and instead of a roll, you put it in a bowl. It's perfection.

01:58:22 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 2:

A little bit of spice of mayo on that.

01:58:23 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 5:

01:59:58 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Heather, who is it that you think that you're...

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 2:

husband is cheating with his ex-wife and there is a reason why you feel this way why is that

02:00:07 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 3:

um well he's going on a trip with his ex-wife and his kids together just them you're not going no he just thought it'd be great if they just wanted the family like you know a formal family

02:00:20 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 2:

for the kids and the the thing that's interesting on this one because i asked this question And I assumed it was going to be going to Disney or to Legoland or something like that. Where are they going?

02:00:32 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 3:

They're going to Hawaii.

02:00:35 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Here's a couple questions I have. How long have you guys been together?

02:00:39 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 3:

Two years.

02:00:40 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 2:

And how long has he been divorced from his ex?

02:00:44 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 3:

I think about four years.

02:00:47 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 2:

And has he ever done this where he's gone away with the kids and her and you haven't been invited?

02:00:54 - 02:00:59 | Speaker 1:

Not this elaborate. So they've done like a weekend trip here or there? Yes.

02:00:59 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

And you've been okay with that?

02:01:02 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 3:

Usually they were just small little things that, you know, were nearby. No.

02:01:06 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 1:

I feel like you would be invited, like you're their stepmom, you know?

02:01:12 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, it bothered me a little bit before, but now it just seems to be getting bigger. Okay.

02:01:17 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to call him up and we're going to offer him a dozen free roses and we're going to see where he's going to send them to. It's the War of the Roses. we're hoping that the flowers go to heather

02:01:29 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 1:

hello hi is this way yes hi wayne how are you doing this morning

02:01:52 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing all well. How are you doing?

02:01:54 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm good. Sorry to call you so early. My name's Nicole. I'm calling from a new internet floral company called rosesbloom.com. And I'm actually bothering you because we have an offer for some free flowers. All we need from you is an answer to two quick survey questions. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months by chance, Wayne?

02:02:16 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea.

02:02:17 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 1:

okay have you purchased flowers or do you plan on purchasing flowers rather in

02:02:21 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 3:

the next six months no I mean no specific plans to okay that's it that's

02:02:28 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 1:

all I needed from you and as a thank you for participating in the survey roses bloom calm like I said is gonna provide you with a dozen long stemmed red roses and so I just need to get some info from you okay who would you like to send some flowers too. I just need a first and a last name. Hello? Wayne? Yes? Hi. I'm sorry I didn't get the name. Oh I'm sorry it's for Heather. Okay and did you want to include a message with that before I get all of Heather's info? We can we can do like a you know a little card with the flowers. I don't

02:03:05 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 3:

You know, just love you, Wayne.

02:03:08 - 02:03:08 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:03:09 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 1:

And, Wayne, I do have to let you know that this call is being monitored and recorded for quality assurance purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:03:15 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:03:16 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Great.

02:03:17 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 2:

Wayne, I also need to inform you that we are really not rosesbloom.com, but we will send those flowers to Heather. We're actually calling from the Mojo in the Morning Show. Okay. And we do a thing called War of the Roses. and Heather is on the phone with us right now because we wanted to see where you'd send the flowers to.

02:03:44 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hi. Where did you think I was going to send the flowers?

02:03:53 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 2:

Actually, go ahead, Heather. I'm sorry.

02:03:57 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, I just thought, I thought maybe you might send them to Alicia, maybe. To my ex-wife? Yeah, I don't know. I just wanted to see.

02:04:10 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 2:

Wayne, the thing that we kind of thought was a little interesting, and yet I don't know if it was suspicious of you possibly cheating with your ex-wife, is that you're going on a very family trip with your ex-wife and your kids, yet you're divorced from her. How did you hear about that? Heather told us, and she just said that it was making her feel a little uncomfortable that you're taking your ex-wife and your kids to Hawaii.

02:04:47 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 3:

We talked about it. I thought it was okay.

02:04:50 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

But, so, try to help me understand this. You're taking your kids on vacation. Love that. But bringing your ex-wife and not inviting...

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 2:

your current wife who is your kid's stepmom what was the theory behind that we just wanted to have

02:05:06 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 3:

a family vacation together uh but isn't your new wife part of part of the family uh i mean yeah she's in the kids lives they don't see her all that much

02:05:19 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 2:

but they see her just as much as they see you what they they see her just as much as they see

02:05:28 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 3:

you i assume that's true but i'm their father i just i thought it would be nice to have just parents without drama you know heather and alicia don't get along all that well i just didn't want to deal with anything happening so why not take a trip then okay so why not

02:05:48 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 2:

take a trip then with you and heather and the kids to hawaii well maybe we'll do that too

02:05:55 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 3:

someday, but that's not what this trip is. Sorry, why am I defending my vacation s*** right now?

02:06:03 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't necessarily want to accuse you of cheating because obviously we have absolutely no proof of that, but to me it's just, I think it's really offensive.

02:06:14 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 3:

I really don't see much of a problem with this.

02:06:18 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, I'm going to ask that you hang on the phone for a second because I am going to send those flowers to Heather and I'm going to come back and we're going to talk a little bit more about this because our phone lines are filled with listeners that would like to make their comments about this. Mojo in the morning, War of the Roses. So no cheater. I mean, well, unless you're our listeners who we've, I believe, trained you to believe everybody's cheating. The War of the Roses this morning on the show, a wife suspects that her husband is cheating because he is going away on a vacation with his ex-wife and their children. By the way, I do believe this. I believe where they're going away on vacation plays a part into why he is inviting his ex, but also why he probably shouldn't be inviting his ex let me kind of explain so they're going to Hawaii he's taking the kids there for a vacation and to me that's a very far place to go to and with kids that are as young as his kids are I mean that's a long way to travel but it's also a long way to travel with your ex-wife like I just don't understand I don't know Tiffany Jenny, I'll grab you first. I don't understand why you just don't have Heather come with. Your thoughts on this.

02:07:54 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, I would feel very uneasy about it. First of all, it's your ex-wife. If you all got along, then you guys would go together. Fine. But since you guys are already divorced, you should have went on vacation when you guys were married. Why are you going on vacation now? and why aren't you taking the new wife with you? Because if the new wife with you, then you're creating that new relationship with the kids, that bond. But to take the ex-wife and leave the new wife at home, I'd be falling for a divorce. I'd be pissed.

02:08:26 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 5:

You would think that this is not a good enough relationship to stay in.

02:08:31 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 1:

Hawaii is an exotic place. It's not a place that you go and take a family vacation. Like if it was like Disneyland or like a fair or something like that or like something like local.

02:08:44 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 4:

Did you say a fair or a fair? Which one did you do? By the way.

02:08:49 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, we're going to like Chuck E. Cheese or we're going to like the fairgrounds or something like that. But to take them to an exotic place like Hawaii with your ex-wife, that's something you should be doing with your wife now.

02:09:00 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 5:

And Shannon.

02:09:00 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 1:

It's totally not okay.

02:09:02 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 5:

You did the theme park thing, I remember.

02:09:04 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

But it was a different situation because, so my ex-husband Andrew and I took our kids to Disney World together. Was it last year or the year before? I can't even remember. It was the year before last year. And we were both, we had both been in our respective relationships for like a couple of months. So nobody was married. And both of our, you know, both Wes and Andrew's now wife knew the situation. they were cool with it that trip had been planned i think now that i don't think that trip would happen anymore if it did it would be their respective partners would be coming with now do i think that like andrew and i could take the kids out to dinner or something the four of us yeah that may or may not fly i don't know but the the vacation now that like in in this case you know there there are other families that have

02:09:59 - 02:10:01 | Unknown:

You

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 1:

been created through marriage it does get a little sticky don't you also think though that disney

02:10:05 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 5:

made it the easy reason why you get you did that because it's kind of like about the kids that's a

02:10:11 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

vacation about the kids uh yeah and i mean we didn't stay obviously in the same hotel room or anything like that like that was all very separate but do you believe though if you would

02:10:19 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 5:

have gone to a place like a hawaii that would have been maybe a different thing where you guys

02:10:24 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 1:

you know no really no i actually don't think i don't think the place has anything to do i don't

02:10:32 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 6:

either i think on the surface it can make it seem like it's a more focused event on the kids if it's disney you're still going away out of vacation anywhere yeah yeah well but but i think that like

02:10:43 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 5:

a disney like what the you know was just said like if it's a place where you're taking your kids to go have fun and you know the ride rides there's let me say this there ain't no sex happening at disney i've had sex at disney you're all okay goofy how much fun was it goofy was it good for you oh fun for the whole family i think you know those

02:11:11 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 1:

situations i know that there are a lot of co-parents that can do that but everybody's on board yeah everybody's on board with this situation and clearly here you know you have somebody who is not on board and very uncomfortable with it and it's also made to feel uncomfortable with like oh no this is this is our little family you're not a part of this little family

02:11:30 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 5:

right that's yucky uh britney your comment here war of the roses it's mojo in the morning

02:11:36 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 2:

hi we are here me and my girlfriend trish and we both are step parents and remarried and this would never fly with us like first of all hawaii is a straight romantic vacation they're giving your kids maybe like hope that who knows how old these kids are are you feeling them that this is our happy family so now the new wife's an outcast to this family like it doesn't matter how good you get along like that's a way on vacation and now that this wife has to stick here and think for the next week like well you know it's just an uncomfortable feeling we're both secure in our marriage and we would and like we have like on my side we have good like co-parenting and everything but i would never be okay with that like would she be okay with her taking her ex

02:12:32 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 5:

on vacation for a week with her kids yeah i listen when you're going three time zones over you know what i mean i into it and like you said it is a very romantic place hawaii is

02:12:45 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 3:

you know that's yeah not prioritizing the new life at all and he is not valuing her in front of his children. Wait a second.

02:12:56 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 5:

Brittany, who is the other voice here?

02:12:58 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 6:

Trish.

02:12:59 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

My girlfriend, Trish.

02:13:01 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 5:

So Brittany and Trish.

02:13:02 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

And I have 17 years of experience as a step-barret, and I would never want that.

02:13:07 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 5:

Brittany and Trish, say hello to Goofy. Goofy's on the phone with us, too. Hi there, ladies.

02:13:12 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Looking for a third?

02:13:14 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You're ruining my childhood. Ever been with an animation? You wouldn't believe the things I can do. Gosh, we love you guys. Thanks for listening together. I like that. I like that. Our friendship that listens to War of the Roses together stays together. What's up, Andy? How you doing, buddy?

02:13:42 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, first off, were they getting different rooms at the motel?

02:13:48 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I asked Lydia to ask that question to them because of, by the way, this has not been a good situation for Heather. And he is saying that they are getting separate rooms. Wayne said that they are getting separate rooms.

02:14:04 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so by him, you know, he said, well, we discussed it. Now, does that mean that he just assumes she'd give her okay for them to go out and just do what they want to do?

02:14:16 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're right.

02:14:17 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 4:

Because they discussed it? You know, is he one of those people? Well, we discussed it. So you shouldn't have anything to say about it.

02:14:24 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. No, that is one of those ones where it's like, if it already has been talked about, why are you still thinking that there's cheating going on? Obviously, she doesn't feel comfortable with it.

02:14:39 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, do you think that when he said, well, we discussed it, so do you think that gives him permission to do it?

02:14:45 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, they discussed it, and at that point, she should have put her opposition up to it. You know what I mean? Like if they discuss it and she still is wavering on what's going on and then calling us up to do War of the Roses, you know, that's bad communication.

02:15:00 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 1:

her part you know yeah it's not not a smart move on her part to to do but uh and now she's in a you know bad situation with him uh what's going on susan what's happening it's mojo in the morning war of the roses again if you're just tuning in uh we had uh heather on with us who suspected that her husband was cheating with his ex-wife because he is taking his ex-wife and his children to hawaii

02:15:23 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 4:

on vacation next week together what's up okay excuse me um i don't think he's cheating i think he's very misguided he's trying to keep the peace between these two women who do not get along and when i say misguided that's being nice for them he is giving his children and i don't know how old they are i don't care if they're two or ten a false narrative of what their family looks like their family with him now looks like him heather and the kids not the ex-wife i mean it's just i don't know if i agree with that part

02:16:03 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 2:

of your comment um because i do believe that that's always going to be your family that's always mom dad and the kids but i think that he needs to prioritize and so that stepmom is

02:16:17 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 4:

also part of that family now right no no i 100 agree i mean i have my husband's ex-wife over she'll be here easter i totally agree with that but i mean they're not in a good place so what you're teaching the kids is that you know kids no matter what age they're going to be like oh well the stepmom's at home so are my mom and dad getting back together i think that sometimes

02:16:46 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 1:

that does bring a false you know uh thought to the kids you know that that dad and mom are together especially when dad and mom are having fun together you know exactly it paints a pretty

02:16:58 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 4:

picture and then and then they're going to go home and go well why it's confusing here yeah i think

02:17:03 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 1:

it's confusing for the kids bruno uh bruno this is a comment here bruno what did you want to say

02:17:11 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 3:

um okay so i'm looking at this you know very differently um first of all the husband said that heather doesn't get along with the ex-wife and they don't the kids don't get to see heather as much which gives me the impression that the kids probably have not bonded with heather now if heather were to go on that trip with the kids and the husband chances are they might not like that trip they might be miserable so if those kids probably don't like heather now they're

02:17:45 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

probably gonna hate her during that trip so i see that and i think you're what you're saying is you're saying maybe the kids don't want heather on this trip but i think as a yeah as a you know the father needs to put the line in the sand draw the line in the sand and say this is my wife and you know i don't think it i don't think it makes the kids like heather anymore that she's not there and they're having the time of their lives without her you know maybe this is a great opportunity to bring heather and not have it be a situation where the kids further hate heather you know i don't know if they hate heather you know what i mean like i know that it sounds to me like heather does not have a good relationship with alicia the ex-wife exactly and who knows what alicia has been telling the kids too yeah well i am just telling you this right now that uh i would like to see if we had a budget like uh you know howard stern has i would like to send kevin on this trip with them with a gopro and go yeah yeah could you imagine what this is going to be like like wouldn't it be great if we as a show could send heather out there and put her up in a room so that she can be close to them and in hawaii i mean if we had budget like we can't even put her up at the Holiday Inn down the street on Hagerty, you know? This is the home of Mojo in the Morning. The world famous Channel 955. Did you hear the story about Lydia and her car? No, I haven't. First off, we have the worst parking situation going on here in front of this building. If you don't park in the main parking lot that they provide for us, which is a fabulous lot, your car is going to either get hit, ticketed, or towed. Just park a lot. And so, so Lydia gets here the earliest, you know, she's here at, you know, four o'clock in the morning or something. And then Shannon comes right afterwards and she's here just not that far after. So they both park in front of the building and there's, and I used to park there too until Lester came in one morning and goes, Mojo, your Tahoe is about to get taken out by a semi truck. So Zach, we'll have to explain this because he was the eyewitness to the crime or the potential crime. Zach gets called by security anytime.

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 2:

that there's any kind of an issue in front of the building and the uh the call came yesterday that

02:20:07 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 3:

there was something going on zach what was the call uh in a panic the security guard mr hill shout out um he was just like hey um who drives the black cherokee i'm like oh that's that's lydia like what's going on well someone just hit her and uh ran off so i was like oh dude i gotta to go get lydia grab lydia without a jacket she bolts and it's like 19 degrees outside yeah and she's like what the hell is going on so she goes uh gets her keys because she wants to make sure her backup camera is fine and wait was the person that hit it gone like they just they're gone

02:20:43 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 1:

they're gone what did they do no no so i i ran outside and the security guard was like oh that's the girl that hit your car and she was walking up the street and i was like hey did you hit my car And she turns around and she's like, I'm so sorry. She's like, I saw that there was no damage done to it, so I didn't think I had to stop. I'm like, no, no, no, that's not common courtesy. If you're going to hit someone's car, and even if you don't see damage, I have to make sure that there's no internal damage with my sensor and my camera. And she's like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That's all she kept saying. And she was really shaken up. And her parents didn't speak English.

02:21:15 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 2:

Wait, oh, really? Okay. Oh, she was, like, younger.

02:21:18 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was probably-

02:21:20 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Where was she going? What was she doing in the area?

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 1:

She was going to the meat market.

02:21:23 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 2:

She's going to the meat market. You should have saw her face, Marjo.

02:21:26 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Huh? You should have saw her face. Lydia, like, reamed her out, and she was scared for her life. It was amazing. Really? Oh, yeah. I was scared for her. Yeah.

02:21:34 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 2:

She wanted to have a piece of my meat. So wait a second. So the security guard sees her hit Lydia's car. She hit and runs the car. Yep. Lydia doesn't allow this to happen because guess what came out? The Chaldean came out. the chaldean came out where i'm like hey i'm from the the the nasty streets of macomb and i'm gonna and i'm and i'm gonna f you up bitch you don't mess with east side chaldeans it was not very uh

02:21:59 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 4:

habibi of her that was not habibi's at all wait so was there damage to your car inside or was it

02:22:05 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 1:

all good there was nothing wrong with it and after i had realized there wasn't she stuck around and waited so so i told her oh sorry go ahead no no so you what'd you tell her i was just telling her I'm like, this is common courtesy, and you have to have respect for other people's things.

02:22:18 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 2:

She gave a life lesson. Oh, a life lesson.

02:22:21 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 3:

Life lesson, Lydia.

02:22:23 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

That's right. So wait, so Lydia with the non-English speaking lady, or no, her family was not. Her family wasn't.

02:22:31 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 1:

She spoke English.

02:22:32 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. As she's going to the meat market to get like challah or something, I don't know, whatever. What is she getting there? What do they serve at that meat market? Do we know? I've not met the neighbors yet.

02:22:42 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Live cow. Live cow. Me and Mojo see those trucks coming by every single morning. They come in alive. They're not sold live. Well, they were just alive five minutes ago. Same thing. You guys stay still breathing. Yes, they do, Shannon. They come in alive.

02:22:59 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 2:

You want to see something scary? Watch the cattle truck pull down the street at 5 in the morning and see Lydia, who, by the way, just a moment ago was about ready to beat some girl's ass. When the cows come by on that little, you know, cattle car, she's crying like a freaking baby. She's crying like a breaking and entering Christmas wish has just been granted. She's like going crazy over this thing. You know what's funny about that is that I would probably, if I saw somebody hit my car, would probably just go, oh, you know what?

02:23:31 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, heck no.

02:23:32 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 2:

I would not run after him down the street. Would you? Would you run after him in this neighborhood?

02:23:36 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 4:

If somebody hit my car and I saw them driving away, I feel like I would run out.

02:23:44 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 2:

I need my concealed carry. I swear to you. Oh, my God. I need it.

02:23:48 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 4:

You're the person who needs it the least.

02:23:49 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 2:

I need it. I got it.

02:23:52 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 4:

But I will also be honest with you. If I hit somebody's car and didn't see any damage, I'd probably go away too.

02:23:58 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

02:23:58 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 4:

I would never do that. I would never do that. Yes, you would. Yes. You would never. I would never.

02:24:04 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:24:04 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 4:

That's such an inappropriate thing to do.

02:24:06 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 2:

So, Lydia, you parked in the same spot that you parked in yesterday when your car got hit. You're not moving your car? You're not going to use the lot anymore?

02:24:15 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Hell no, I'm not using that lot. I get in at 5 o'clock in the morning, and I carry Starbucks drinks, and I carry my planner, and my laptop. There's no way I'm walking half a block in the freezing cold.

02:24:26 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 2:

So, wait, there's a video, Zach? Let me see the video. Yeah, I just sent it to you. Wait. There's a video?

02:24:31 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, all of us immediately pulling out our phones. Can you see the cows? Why am I pissed like it just happened?

02:24:36 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 2:

Wait, this is video, Zach, this is video of Lydia chasing them or video? Oh, there is video of that. Oh, video of that. I need a new phone. All right, hold on. Okay, here you go. Hold on. It's just a little bump, but like, let me see, let me see. Oh, boom. Kaboom. What kind of car is that? Is that like a...

02:24:55 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Like a 2008 Cater. Now, wait, does she get out to check? Does she get out to check? Thank you.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 3:

No. She banged into that bitch. She sure can't drive.

02:25:03 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 4:

She sure does not.

02:25:04 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

She had way more room. Look at that. By the way, that is the worst parallel parker I've ever seen.

02:25:10 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 6:

It's hard.

02:25:12 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:25:12 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 6:

The interesting thing is she could have just parked there, but she knew she was in the wrong, so she drove away. Well, that's what you do when you hit a car.

02:25:20 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:25:20 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 6:

You leaped.

02:25:21 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny?

02:25:22 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 6:

How did she even know there was no damage? She never got out of the car. Thank you.

02:25:25 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 3:

Here's my question for you guys. If you're at Kroger and you get out of your car and you bang the door next to you, do you pretend that you didn't do it? Like, what do you do?

02:25:35 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 4:

You look to see if it's a visible scratch or something like that.

02:25:38 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 3:

If it is, what do you do? You leave a note? You still leave.

02:25:42 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 4:

In my mind, they don't know if it was there or if it wasn't there.

02:25:45 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 6:

You look around. You just poo-pooed on what I said. I'm sorry. You look around and you see if anybody saw it. If they did, you write a fake note. Then you put that in the windshield. If nobody saw you, you get the car. You leave.

02:25:55 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 3:

What if it's a white car like Shannon's GMC, and you got a black car right next to it with a big old black mark on it? Do you move your car to a different parking spot?

02:26:04 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 6:

No, because that's conspicuous.

02:26:06 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:26:06 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, this was from a different interaction. That was my red car. That was somebody, like, that was.

02:26:11 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, if it's a red one, you're screwed. Yeah. Because there ain't, you know, it's like, that's a bad one. Kevin, by the way, I've just learned this. I've learned that this guy is the guy I never want parking next to me. Why? Oh, my God.

02:26:22 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't always hit doors. I don't always hit doors.

02:26:26 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you, you know who the worst person is to park next to you? KP. First of all, she drives a truck, a Silverado pickup truck, that's way too big for a little girl to be driving. Like, she should not be driving that thing. She drives, and she drives like an idiot. You know what I mean? Like, she pulls up on curbs and stuff like that. Last week, she's not, is she tracking her show right now, or what is she doing?

02:26:47 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 1:

She'd be coming in here if she was listening, so.

02:26:49 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

We got to get her. So last week, she parked like I was the size of Shannon. And next to me, I couldn't get into my car. I had to climb over the passenger seat to get over to my car. You should have seen my big fat ass trying to get over this thing.

02:27:05 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 4:

I want to say her license plate or like the little tree thing that hang from her rearview mirror says hot girls hit curbs.

02:27:12 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 5:

Is that what it says? She owns it.

02:27:16 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 3:

Courtney, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:27:19 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I hit a parked car in a strawberry field once, and it was a Range Rover, and my newborn was crying. I had my three-year-old daughter with me, and so I went and searched the strawberry field to see who it was. And she chewed me out and, like, said, how could I do that? And I was like, my baby was crying. She threatened to call the cops on me, and she wanted my husband to just write a check.

02:27:45 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 3:

But you were nice enough to go search her out and find her.

02:27:48 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 2:

oh it was so bad i was crying and it was it was she threatened to call the cops on me and i'm like i didn't mean to driving is hard sometimes parking is hard sometimes and but that was the lady felt so bad for me at the strawberry field that she gave me my strawberries for free so that's the only one and i love you i love you i'm so grateful you called but it feels like hear me out don't

02:28:12 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 6:

get mad a strawberry field feels like it would have a lot of open space how did you manage to

02:28:17 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 2:

pull this off you would you would think that but when you pull in you have to pull to the right and it was like a roll like it was it's hard it sounds yeah it was a field i have if it was the left you would have been good parking is hard yeah but you are right i have been known to hit cars

02:28:35 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

well it was nice of you to at least go find her you know what i mean like that was good i may or

02:28:42 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 2:

I may not have backed up into a spot once thinking it was open and there was actually a car in there. I take full responsibility.

02:28:52 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 3:

You probably should not be driving a car, should you?

02:28:56 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, stuff happens, right? My husband will see my kids how to drive.

02:29:01 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right. Well, take care of yourself.

02:29:03 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 2:

Love you. Happy birthday, Shannon.

02:29:05 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

02:29:07 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 3:

Strawberry Fields. I was trying to pull up the song. Isn't there a Beatles song, Strawberry Fields Forever? There is.

02:29:12 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 1:

strawberry fields forever yeah zach what's up hey my son's seven years old and he's got a bit of a problem with like slamming the door open super fast yeah so he's left a couple marks as well but there was one time we were sitting next to a really nice car and he swung it open and it hit his mirror and kind of like you know bent it backwards like some mirrors can do yeah um uh fortunately he was a super nice guy you know i got out and i apologized like no it's cool it's cool but it was a really nice car you know so i i was like oh no i'm about to pay for something

02:29:49 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 6:

dude i miss driving a hoopty sometimes because i would be like what are you gonna do hit me

02:29:54 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 4:

see uh-uh no it's those people though that are the ones that complain

02:30:00 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 3:

It's the people with the hoopties that are the ones that go, oh, my neck hurts. You know, if I see somebody's car that's messed up, I'm staying so far away from you.

02:30:08 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 2:

As you should, because I got nothing to lose. Exactly.

02:30:12 - 02:30:38 | Speaker 1:
