Mojo. Five, four, three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:03:20 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 7:

All right, are you ready?

00:03:21 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 6:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

00:03:24 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:03:28 - 00:04:02 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:04:02 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 7:

mojo in the morning so i had a uh a moment yesterday i i until we moved in the studio had never heard of a store that uh fritz who you know set up our cameras so fritz told me about a store that I had never been to ever in my life. Anytime I needed anything, I would always go to either Best Buy or I'd go to the Apple store and I'd go buy something. But he was telling me about a store that is in Madison Heights, is one of their stores. It's called, what, Micro Center? Is that what it's called? Exactly.

00:04:46 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I see that on the highway. Okay.

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

So I went to Micro Center. Now, this has nothing to do with Micro Center. This has to do with a guy that works Micro Center. So I went in there yesterday to go find a piece that would work in our control board here Because of

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 5:

I needed something to work our show that we used to have in the old studio that is not compatible, I guess. I walk inside. There's a lot of nice people there. The one guy that helped me out had to be the guy that calls me Chief.

00:05:15 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

00:05:17 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if there are any people out there that are listening that like to be called Chief. But the moment that I walked in, it was, hey, Chief, what's going on, Chief? What's happening, Chief? And I'm looking around going, who is he talking to? And I'm like, I think he's talking to me. I think I'm chief. I think I'm the chief. So I go, oh, hey, I'm, you know, looking for, you know, a USB to lightning. I'm asking him the question about this thing. And he's like, well, chief, come on over here, chief. And he, like, shows me around. And I'm, like, going, I don't know what this guy thinks I am. Like, I don't know. Come here off the reservation or something like that. Like, what is this guy doing? Why is he calling me chief? And it got me thinking about things that people call you. And I don't, there are certain things that I've been called before that I've complained about. I hate when people call me big guy.

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. You big guy.

00:06:12 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 5:

No offense. I have been at gas stations before and I've had the guy, you know, when I'm putting money on a pump go, what pump, big guy? and i'm thinking to myself basically you calling me big guy is like calling me out and telling me

00:06:27 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 3:

that i'm a big fatty or something do you think it's that or do you think it's you're genuinely so tall i don't think our listeners might realize how tall you are i don't know how tall are you you're like what six six i'm like no big guy's not six six you're like six six i don't know

00:06:42 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 6:

after like six one you're just six six to me i'm like six two you're talking about chief over here

00:06:46 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you, I've dated a big guy before, and he genuinely was 6'6". I would have put hard money on the fact that you were at least 6'5".

00:06:54 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 6:

If I were 6'6", I'd be playing for the Pistons. There's no way. You're so tall. I can tell you this, though. My bad. I absolutely hate it. I hate it when white dudes especially, this is the only person in the world that does this is white men. They call you brother. And that is delicious. Like Hulk Hogan? Bro, they be like, hey, what's going on, brother? Hey, brother. Like, they don't meet you. Like, hey, brother. That is the most annoying thing in the entire world.

00:07:21 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 5:

Do they only call you brother? Because I've had Dom Theater, our old boss, used to call me brother all the time.

00:07:26 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 4:

I feel like Wes calls everybody brother. He calls my brother brother. Everybody.

00:07:31 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 6:

It sounds weird. It sounds forced. It sounds... Just don't do that.

00:07:35 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 4:

I hate... And I know it is appropriate. Unfortunately, I hate ma'am and I hate lady. I know. Call me miss. And the kids know, like, we were at Nordstrom the other day. Oh, man. Hate, hate, hate, hate. I was in the return line, and the, as I just say it, but the woman who was working at Nordstrom was trying to point me out to somebody else, and she's like, it's this lady right here. And Lucy goes, ah.

00:07:57 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 6:

Lady. Here we go.

00:07:59 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:08:00 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 4:

I hate it.

00:08:01 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I use one all the time, and I'm afraid it offends people, but I cannot take it out of my lexicon at this point. Love. Thank you, love. Hey, love. You do that. Appreciate your love. Yep.

00:08:12 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

I don't mind that at all, though.

00:08:13 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 3:

People don't like that.

00:08:13 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

I always feel like when you're doing it, it's like going, you are such a dumb mother effer. That's why you're calling us that.

00:08:19 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

No, because I hate sweetie or sweetheart. I think while the, or hun, I feel like if there's a certain connotation behind it, it can be very endearing and very loving, but usually it's used in a mean way. Like, okay, sweetie, but you never go, okay, love.

00:08:33 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Miranda? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:08:37 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Hey guys, how you doing?

00:08:38 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 5:

We're doing fantastic. Wow, your phone line sounds so clean. What's going on?

00:08:42 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, awesome. I just got a new phone, so maybe that's it. My ex-boyfriend actually used to call everyone boss. Oh, that's another one.

00:08:51 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 5:

I hate that. What up, boss?

00:08:53 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

He'd be like, hey, boss. And I'm like, can you please stop that? And that's probably why we're not together anymore because it was just so cringe. It's annoying.

00:09:00 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

A lot of the Chaldea homies used that. Hey, what's up, boss? Hey, boss. The other one, too, is champ. You remember anybody calling you champ? Who says he? Hey, champ. I've heard that. What's going on, Ed? How you doing? I'm not on t-ball anymore.

00:09:12 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm good, Mojo. How about you? I'm pretty good, Chief. What's up? See, that's it. When people call me Chief, I call him Squaw. What is that? Because I don't like it either. That's the Indian wife. It's probably not politically correct either.

00:09:28 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 5:

I did not know that. Oh, no, that's funny. Oh, man. By the way, when people do this and they do it, they don't realize they're doing it. Like, I don't think he realized that he was calling me that.

00:09:41 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 4:

He's not pretty offensive.

00:09:41 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 5:

No, and actually the guy was really nice because they couldn't find the piece that I was looking for. And he said, hey, maybe you might need to go over to, you know, to this place. But the whole time I'm like going, I was, after a while I was like, I don't even remember what I came in here for. I have no clue. Karen, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 6:

You probably hate when people call her Karen.

00:10:02 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm a first time long time. Hey! Hello!

00:10:08 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 6:

What's up?

00:10:09 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 1:

And I'm, I'm Chaldean. I hate when Chaldean men say cuz. Cuz, yeah. Like, they're like, oh, like, what up, cuz? Like, I'm not your cousin. Like, don't call me cuz.

00:10:21 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 6:

No, no, you might be. You might, if you're Chaldean, you might be. Actually, you, you may be careful about that sometimes, too. What's going on, Paul? How you doing? I'm doing good. How are you, Bojo? I'm doing okay, buddy. First time, short time. Hey, Bojo. What's up? I don't like when they call me dude. Dude. I think I do that.

00:10:45 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

I do that a lot. Yeah, you don't like that? Yeah, you are.

00:10:47 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 6:

What's up? Megan always goes, my dude. Yeah, you do say that. I love it. What's up, my dude? Yeah. I don't mind dude as much as these other ones. these other ones kind of uh i don't know i always feel like it's uh it whenever you're calling somebody that stuff it always feels like you're saying you know i don't care about you or i don't

00:11:07 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 1:

like you or whatever the deal is i think zach and i have had full conversations just saying dude differently really like dude dude i'm a dude i love dude joe what's up i'm a dude mojo good

00:11:22 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

morning how you doing buddy i'm good i was calling in uh had big fella to your uh comment list and

00:11:28 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 6:

not being called big fella big guy big fella biggie what's up the notorious big i had and i had somebody call me the notorious big ones i'm like going i am not just a biggie yeah seriously And Kev's right on this deal. It's always white guys. White guys are the idiots that do these things for some reason. I don't know what it is.

00:11:55 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 7:

That brother stuff. I'm not with it, bro.

00:11:59 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30. Dirty.

00:15:48 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 3:

The L.A. home of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban was broken into over the weekend. Actually, on Valentine's Day, I believe, is when this happened. So we're just getting some details about that. Nicole and Keith were not home at the time. One of their employees was. And she actually scared this person off. And in these situations, I'm like, they have to have crazy security. So how in the heck did this person get in in the first place? Smashed a window.

00:16:14 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's very scary to be there when that happens. I can imagine.

00:16:19 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 3:

Unclear what, if anything, may have been stolen. So far, police have made no arrests. While appearing on Hot Mics with Billy Bush yesterday, Justin Baldoni's lawyer shared that he was quite surprised Ryan Reynolds would make a joke on the SNL 50th anniversary special about the ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit that Blake Lively filed against Justin. If you missed that joke on Saturday evening, it was when Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were doing their monologue.

00:16:46 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 4:

Who else? Who else has a question? I have a question. Oh, hi, Ryan Reynolds. Hi.

00:16:53 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 3:

There's Justin Baldoni's attorney talking about it.

00:17:02 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been sexually harassed and has made jokes about that type of situation.

00:17:18 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 2:

Did you see Blake's face?

00:17:21 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but all of that's planned. Yeah. I don't know, man. Every single bit of it.

00:17:25 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 4:

For sure. I just feel like he's winning right now, as in Justin Baldoni. Like, just don't comment on it.

00:17:33 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well. They're trying to save face. It makes you look petty. It's interesting because his lawyers were given a very strict warning by the judge to stop commenting on it. So I'm even surprised that he went on this podcast with Billy Bush. But I don't know. I want you to Google something this morning when you have time. It's the video of somebody flying a drone up to Drake's penthouse in Australia. You see Drake's reaction. He tries to like chew it away from him with a like a slide, like a shoe. That's all. I don't think that it is or I think that it is staged. Kevin and I were talking about it before the show this morning. So if you see it, text us and let us know what you think. FireAid announcing the recipients for its first $50 million in grants last month. FireAid hosted those two benefit concerts in L.A. to raise funds for the victims of the devastating wildfires. I heard media was a big part of that. They raised an estimated more than $100 million, which is just incredible. Half of that was announced to be set aside for grants prioritizing community-based organizations that are actually on the front lines of wildfire relief. The remaining $50 million raised so far is going to go towards organizations focusing on rebuilding and long-term recovery for the victims of those devastating wildfires. And millennials, Gen X, and Baby Boomer, men specifically, are injecting their jawlines with bone-like filler to get those chiseled faces like Jon Hamm, Matt Reif, you know, all of the celebrities that have those amazing jaws. He's a great example. About $10,000 is what these services are going to set you back. And one expert was saying the reason that ordinary men are wanting to have chiseled jawlines and do this is because it makes you look like you are more competitive at the office.

00:19:32 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 4:

Here's what I will say, though. I couldn't make it up. Somebody called this a male BBL, getting your jaw done, veneers and fixing your hairline. and I'm here for it. Yeah.

00:19:41 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:19:42 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:19:42 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Shannon. As I was reading this article, they were doing like before and afters of men in their 30s, 40s, and 50s that had this done. It is a very noticeable glow up thing to do. But it looks good. And it looks good.

00:19:57 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 4:

It looks good. Yeah.

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't like it.

00:20:00 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 1:

I feel like, you know, when they, in the movies or on television shows, when they show you go inside of a cave and they show like what men used to look like and then periodically over a hundred years they start showing these things. I can't wait till they show what we look like. We're getting closer and closer to looking like robots.

00:20:14 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:20:16 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 1:

Everybody's doing something. Guys, please don't inject yourself thinking that you're going to get a promotion. It doesn't work like that.

00:20:21 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 5:

You know what I saw recently was this gum that you chew, dudes, and it helps you get strong. Please don't waste your money. For all of today's dirty, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:20:33 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 6:

00:20:59 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning. Is it offensive to have happen to you what happened to producer Lydia? It's Mojo in the Morning show here. So Lydia, explain what happened to you.

00:21:17 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so a cousin and I had a falling out a couple months back and then flash forward, we still have not hashed it out, But flash forward to about a week ago, she wished a mutual cousin of ours a happy birthday on her story. Now, in this story, she did a picture collage and she cropped out two photos of me and then covered another photo that had me in it with balloons. And I don't follow her on Instagram anymore. So someone who follows her screenshotted it and zoomed in on the photo of the balloons covering my face and was like, is this you? I'm like, uh, yeah, now this is awkward because I don't know what to do about that. Like, do I say something to her? That is so rude, no. Because it's like, I don't follow you. Yeah.

00:22:02 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 6:

So, so, again, you're not talking to them anymore. You're no longer talking because, will you tell us why or no?

00:22:12 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Um, yeah. So we were supposed to go to the Lions game for my birthday. but then a couple weeks before that she had done something that I felt was shady and I confronted her on it and she didn't like the way that I confronted her so then she didn't come with me to the Lions game for my birthday and I took Bianca

00:22:28 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 6:

and so she was that upset that she pedied herself to posting and

00:22:36 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 5:

putting balloons over your face

00:22:39 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 2:

yeah you guys if you see this picture you'll be like what the hell You would have thought that I, like, told her not to, you know. So you can't crop photos? Breathe my air.

00:22:50 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:22:51 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 4:

Cropping is one thing. I'm sorry. The blatant balloons over the face.

00:22:56 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, Lydia, was there any way of getting you out of the photo without covering your face? Or were other people going to be removed as well?

00:23:02 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you be the judge because I just sent it to you.

00:23:04 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:23:05 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 2:

Because I was going to say, use a different photo then.

00:23:06 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 6:

I think, I think cropping, I. Okay. Oh, God, that's definitely.

00:23:11 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 2:

because the other person's on the other side she's in the middle so the one to the right is the cousin that has beef with me why wouldn't you just crop because there's somebody else but there's someone else in the middle like you're wishing them happy birthday you can just

00:23:27 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 6:

cut out the photo by the way these girls are smoking hot holy cow look at these girls these are cousins of yours yes here's a beautiful cab if you were here right now you'd want to see this

00:23:37 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 3:

is it rude yes but if you're falling out wasn't that long ago am i just not supposed to post for my friend's birthday because you're in all the photos post it but just make sure that i'm

00:23:48 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 5:

completely cut out you don't have to put balloons over i agree i agree lydia that's really really

00:23:54 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 2:

so i sent you guys the second photo where it was like a childhood photo that we took now see i don't i don't cut me out of this one and i thought that was okay that's i was gonna say

00:24:03 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 4:

That's not bad to me because she zeroed in on, you know, the two people in the picture.

00:24:08 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 6:

By the way, I love Chaldean girl drama. I love it. There is nothing better. Can we talk to them on the air? Will you call us if you're listening? I'd like to know, cousin, will you give us a little insight into your side of this whole not going to a game thing with Lydia?

00:24:28 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 3:

it's like i'm just thinking i have like a friend trio and if we had a fallout and one of them their birthday was up in a month i wouldn't have enough photos of just me and the one friend

00:24:39 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 2:

to post you only need to post one and you're good don't have to post the ones with me in it

00:24:45 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 3:

yeah that i that i understand lydia i'm not i'm saying it's rude i'm with you on this one i'm

00:24:51 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

agreeing with you um you know what would be worse than her uh cutting you out of photos or putting balloons over you in photos?

00:25:00 - 00:25:19 | Speaker 2:

putting bad pictures of you up that could be coming next oh that actually would piss me off more than that i'd be upset 8844 mojo who's the balloon in that picture uh monica you were in a similar situation to lydia what did you want to say hi hi um i have the same situation with the

00:25:19 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 6:

cousin um something that she did to me was very shady she was like my sister um and she started putting up memes on um on facebook and instagram about how i should be in a straight jacket because

00:25:35 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 2:

i confronted her on what um on what she did oh really so she actually was calling she was putting

00:25:42 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 6:

like crazy memes up saying that you were crazy putting crazy memes up on facebook and i called her out on it and um like this is someone who was like my sister like she called me her ride or die and um so it's been very contentious yes one thing i would get super disrespectful for with

00:26:02 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 2:

lydia one thing i would like to say is the lone man with testosterone here in the studio here is that guys don't do stuff like this we don't do the stupid things like memes and cutting people

00:26:14 - 00:26:18 | Speaker 4:

out of pictures but you also don't do birthday posts for the most part well very rarely do

00:26:18 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 2:

that are so low drama and the girl no we're not drama like this we just deal with it or we ask we try to fight you you know what i mean that's our thing stephanie wants to comment on this stephanie what do you want to say yeah this is hannah or hannah i don't know how we why would

00:26:36 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 3:

we call you stephanie i have no idea i called yesterday but my name is hannah i just want to tell lydia uh lydia just ignore her this is her point she wants yeah yeah she wants to argue with you and I know Chaldean fight is not

00:26:50 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 2:

good. Chaldean drama is fantastic. I love Chaldean

00:26:54 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 3:

drama. Yeah. The girl sexually is very bad. So, yep. We just ignore her.

00:27:06 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Do you think though that we should have her cousins call up the show and we can do like a cousin's court?

00:27:12 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 3:

I'll be the judge. You're not going to be able to handle it, Mojo. No, no, no.

00:27:16 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 2:

I would like to be a judge in this court case of Cousins Court, and I would like to have all the cousins here, and then we will get everybody together.

00:27:29 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 3:

We're all going to take Lydia's side, though. We love Lydia.

00:27:32 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 2:

Not necessarily. Lydia could be in the wrong. I'm going to tell you this. I've seen Lydia do things sometimes that are petty.

00:27:38 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 6:

In this situation, I'm not wrong.

00:27:40 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, let me judge. So, Cousin, call us up. What's the cousin's name again?

00:27:44 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not going to say her name on the air. She's too shy for that.

00:27:47 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Wouldn't that be a fun little bit, though? Cousins Court? It's only Chaldeans that take part in it.

00:27:54 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I think we have a new segment idea.

00:27:57 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 2:

You get a bunch. And for those who don't know what Chaldeans are, Chaldeans are Iraqi Catholics. They're prominent in the Detroit and also San Diego areas. I don't know why, but that's fun. Anytime I go to San Diego, I always run into one of Lydia's cousins out there. But Cousins Court could be a new bid on our show, Lydia. We always look for ideas. What's up, Jared?

00:28:20 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo. Yeah. Long time listener.

00:28:23 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 2:

First time?

00:28:24 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 1:

First time. Yeah. I've earned it. Hey, man. Lady drama? Hey, no. We don't do it.

00:28:36 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:28:37 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 1:

Us guys. It's all.

00:28:38 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. We're too mellow. We'll have drama, and then next thing you know, we'll have a drink with somebody.

00:28:45 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes, sir.

00:28:46 - 00:28:50 | Speaker 2:

Y'all will also swing on someone. Well, it's true.

00:28:51 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so this to me is like a very passive-aggressive way of the cousin, you know, responding to Lydia.

00:28:57 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:28:57 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 4:

What sort of passive-aggressive things do guys do? Because you said sometimes they can be aggressive and swing and fight, but like have you ever done anything passive-aggressive towards somebody that you're not caring for right now?

00:29:08 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 2:

We ask their girls. No, okay. I'm just kidding. No, we don't. Honestly, guys don't.

00:29:15 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 5:

Y'all are full of it.

00:29:16 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Guys don't do passive-aggressive drama like this.

00:29:18 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 5:

Yes, they do. I'm sorry. My two favorite people on the entire planet are my dad and my brother. And my brother is one of the pettiest bitches I know.

00:29:26 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 2:

If Kevin were here right now, I'm really bummed that I don't have Kevin's representation on a topic like this. Because, A, I think Kevin would have liked Lydia's cousins. B, he would admit exactly what you guys are trying to say, that guys have drama too. Guys don't do drama like this. We just don't do it. We just ignore the whole situation. Girls get crazy with their drama. They post it on social media and they try to get all crazy and stuff and they try to hurt feelings. Guys don't hurt feelings. What's up, Alicia? Hi.

00:29:58 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:30:00 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:30:01 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I am, I'm not going to be in. I'm a Syrian. And, you know, my cousins are like my brothers and sisters. I just think it's so silly that she would even cut her out of the photo to begin with. I mean, you're cousins. Okay, you're fighting. You're going to be friends again. You're going to be cousins again soon. Yeah, you're blind. Everyone knew her cousins before the argument. Yeah. You could still be in a picture.

00:30:21 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 3:

There are probably 400 photos she could have chosen from.

00:30:24 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 1:

And there's better stuff to fight about than a stupid, you know, football. You know what I mean?

00:30:30 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and even if you're fighting, it's okay if you post a picture and she's still in it. You're still family.

00:30:36 - 00:30:45 | Speaker 1:

Yep. I like this one. 616 says, guys will do all kinds of spitty trades in fantasy football and mess with somebody's fantasy football team.

00:30:45 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so that's the passive-aggressive.

00:30:47 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that is true. You'll, like, trade all your good players to the person that you don't like. That's actually not a bad – okay, so I take back what I said. Guys are, I guess, a little bit petty. They just do it in a different way. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:31:09 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 3:

00:34:48 - 00:34:55 | Speaker 3:

It's Dumb and Dumber, a movie that I've never been able to get through. Oh, I was thinking that in my head. And that is actually wild, Shannon. I know.

00:34:56 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm on your team, Shannon.

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

00:36:53 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

5 lies to tell your mama. Dawn? Yes? Does your mom love you? I hope so. Do you think she loves you enough that she won't hold it against you if she finds out that you just embarrassed her on the radio? We'll find out. Five lies to tell your mom. We're going to give you five completely fabricated lies. All you have to do is act them out and we're going to see how your mom reacts to them. Okay. Lie number one, you're going to say, mom, My brother took me out For my birthday last night Okay What's your brother's name? Mark Lie number two

00:37:27 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 3:

Say we met up with some of his friends at the bar Oh god, okay

00:37:32 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three They ended up getting into a huge fight

00:37:37 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god, okay

00:37:38 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 1:

Lie number four

00:37:39 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 4:

The cops showed up and we all got arrested Oh, she's gonna be so mad, okay

00:37:45 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 1:

Lie number five I need you to come bail us both out for $5,000. Oh, my God. So we are going to call your mom, and we're going to see what she says, okay?

00:37:59 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:38:04 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 1:

Speak up nice and loud. Everyone's listening.

00:38:10 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Hello. Hey, Mom. Hi. Oh, God, please don't be mad at me. So last night, Mark took me out for a late birthday. Yeah. And we met up with some of his friends at the bar. Yeah. But there was a really, really big fight. And the cops showed up. The cops? The cops showed up, and we all got arrested. What? And, um, I need you to come bail us out for $5,000. $5,000? Yeah, Mom, I really, really need your help. Uh-uh. You're going to let me sit in jail, Mom? Yeah, I think you need to sit in jail and think about what you did. Mom, I don't want to be here. I didn't mean to do anything. It wasn't my fault. Son, you can just sit your ass in jail. I'm sorry. Mom! I don't have that kind of money to bail you out. Mom, please don't leave me in here. It's not fair. I don't have the money to get you out. There's nothing you can do. Where do you think I'm going to get the money from? A money tree? You don't have anybody you can ask? I only get one phone call. Like, I can't call anybody else. I don't know anybody that has that kind of money. Oh, Mom, please don't make me sit here. It's awful in here.

00:39:57 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 2:

All right. What's that? Hello?

00:40:01 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm at the police station. Hello?

00:40:04 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 2:

Hi, is this Dawn's mom?

00:40:06 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:40:07 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 2:

How are you doing?

00:40:09 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 4:

I thought I was doing okay today, but I don't know about now.

00:40:13 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 2:

This is Officer Steve McGarrett. I'm hanging out here with Dawn. And unfortunately, it sounds like you're not going to be bailing her out, which means that she's going to have to stay here for a while.

00:40:26 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think it would deserve her a lesson to do what she did. and she should have talked about that before things got out of hand.

00:40:32 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 2:

Did she tell you everything that she did?

00:40:35 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 4:

That they, I guess her and my son, her brother, went to a bar, and there was a fight, I guess, that broke out, and she's in jail.

00:40:45 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 2:

No, that wasn't all of it.

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 4:

That's not all of it?

00:40:48 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:40:49 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:40:49 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 2:

She actually, when the police came and the police were ready to put handcuffs on her, she pulled her blouse up and showed her d*** to the police officers.

00:40:58 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 4:

She did what? Oh, my God. No way.

00:41:02 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:41:03 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 4:

No way.

00:41:04 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 2:

She pulled her blouse up and showed her s*** to the police officer.

00:41:11 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 4:

She deserves to sit in jail for doing that.

00:41:15 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what the police officer said?

00:41:19 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 4:

Sure, Tommy.

00:41:21 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 2:

I hope your mother has better s*** than that.

00:41:23 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'll kill her So my one question

00:41:32 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 2:

I have to ask you Do you have better d*** than that?

00:41:40 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 4:

Than hers?

00:41:42 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes

00:41:42 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, mine are bigger, but Shame on you

00:41:52 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom this is the mojo in the morning show and Dawn just had you on five lies to tell your mom

00:41:58 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 4:

Dawn just had you on with us

00:42:16 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 2:

so that you could win dinner on us for five lies to tell your mom

00:42:19 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this is funny.

00:42:26 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 5:

I love that you just didn't even care that she was in jail. Just sit in jail. You need to learn your lesson. Thanks, Mom.

00:42:32 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Yeah. Shut up. Oh, shit.

00:42:37 - 00:42:39 | Unknown:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Sweet.

00:42:41 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:42:45 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Question. Have you ever been to a bar and a guy did something weird, made you feel uncomfortable? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Megan, what happened?

00:43:03 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 1:

So this past weekend, I was trying to go out and meet up with somebody, and I ended up at the wrong bar. Now, I was really annoyed because I was all dressed up and ready to go. So when I walked into this bar, the bartender was like, oh, sit down, I'll buy you a drink. And at this point, I'm like, well, I put in all this effort. I'll take it for a drink. Sure. Why not? And I sat down, started drinking my drink. All of a sudden, the bartender goes around the bar, sits down next to me. Oh, God. Turns his chair around. So, like, I'm facing towards the bar. He's facing away from the bar, but we're sitting directly next to each other. So he's looking me, like, right in the face. And then he keeps, like, touching my arm, asking me where I lived. trying to follow me on social media, asked me out on a date, and I had said no over and over and over again to the point where I left the bar before I even finished the drink. I just went, thanks, and I stood up, and I walked out the door. He was so uncomfortable, it wasn't funny.

00:44:06 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 5:

Have you heard from him since then? Yeah. Since he knows your social media?

00:44:09 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, multiple times. Multiple times. And I'm very uncomfortable. And I'm like, please leave me alone. The zero responses should be all of the response you need before I block you.

00:44:22 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 3:

So let's go back. So you go to the bar. You were supposed to meet somebody else? Correct. You're looking amazing. Okay. You sit at the bar, and he immediately comes over and starts to hit on you. That's what it sounds like.

00:44:35 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I walked in. I said, is so-and-so here? He said, no, but let me buy you a drink.

00:44:40 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And comes around the bar.

00:44:44 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:44:45 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 3:

And sits next to you. Yeah. Is this the thing that happens?

00:44:50 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 5:

I mean, didn't he have other people that he was serving? Right, that's what I'm trying to do. That is my question.

00:44:55 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and he was the only bartender who had heard them. Yes, it was so weird. It was so weird.

00:45:00 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 5:

So uncomfortable. Yeah. Remind me not to go to that bar because I'll never get my drink. It was like people had walked up to the bar and were standing there waiting for a drink and he had his back to them talking to me, stroking my arm.

00:45:13 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I would not be going back there. I hope you don't.

00:45:17 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 5:

So uncomfortable. So uncomfortable. But like I didn't understand why he just like didn't get the hint. At what point do you have to be like, go away?

00:45:26 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I wonder as a woman, when you go out to bars, how weird it is, especially when you run into situations where you meet a guy and it's just uncomfortable for one, because you're alone. You don't have anybody that's near you.

00:45:41 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 5:

Right. And honestly, usually it's the bartender I trust to make my drink. But when you act this way, I all of a sudden felt very uncomfortable at the drink you made me. So, like, I didn't want to finish. I just wanted to go home. Yeah.

00:45:53 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 6:

It was crazy. Oh, God. I mean, I always have a really hard time if it if we're going to a bar and it's a crowded bar. I'm five feet tall. So if I'm not ponied right up to the bar, I have to do the jump up and down with my credit card in the air to get somebody to get a bartender to notice me. And so when I was living in Atlanta and this is years right before I moved back home to Detroit, there was a bartender at this this place called the Twisted Taco. And and he finally realized what was happening. It was our favorite place to hang out on the weekends. And so he was like, here's the deal. Give me your phone number. You guys always sit in the table over there in the corner. Whenever you need something, just text me. I'll bring it out to you and I'll put it on your tab. I'm like, this is amazing. Until he started sending me selfies of him and his dog. And then it's like the lines crossed there, right?

00:46:40 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 5:

Yes. And now I can't go back to my favorite place.

00:46:42 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:43 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 5:

That sucks, dude. That sucks.

00:46:45 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. If you got a crazy bar story, we'd love to hear about it.

00:46:51 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 3:

let's go to Allie. Allie what's up? Hi um so I work at a bar in Royal Oak and I was chewing a piece of gum one day on my shift and one of the customers had asked me for a piece of gum and I was like yeah I'll go to the back I'll get you one and he was like no that's fine I'll just take the piece and I was like the piece that's in my mouth and then he took the piece of gum out of my mouth and put it in his face. No, no, no, no. Wait, wait, wait.

00:47:20 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 6:

You let him take it out of your mouth? I didn't believe he was going to do it.

00:47:25 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

So did you open your mouth or did he just put his fingers in it?

00:47:28 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 4:

I pulled it out. Okay, all right. That makes me feel a little better about this situation.

00:47:33 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 2:

I thought he put his grubby little part in your mouth. Allie, I'm not mad. I'm mad at you. He called your bluff. You took the gum out. I wanted to see if he would do it. And he did.

00:47:45 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 4:

And he did.

00:47:47 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 2:

He did. We got S, voice disguise, wants to throw something in the hat. S, what's going on? S, you there?

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm someone else.

00:48:01 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking to you. Your voice disguise. What's up?

00:48:05 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hi. I was living in a very nice area and working a lot. So on the weekends, I would go to the same place, very nice restaurant bar. But I would stay at the bar just so I could chat with the bartenders and watch TV. But the person way over served was rubbing, started rubbing his nasty foot on my leg. What, dude? And stroking my arm. And I, but the bartenders who knew me took care of him and escorted him right out of the restaurant.

00:48:39 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you got lucky.

00:48:40 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 1:

Good. Yeah.

00:48:43 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 2:

Was he barefoot?

00:48:44 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 1:

I think sometimes it's the bartenders that need to be called out when they're creepy, but these were excellent people.

00:48:50 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 5:

Did he ever come back? Like, did you ever run into a footsie guy?

00:48:55 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. And I had been there before, but I think they were never going to serve him again.

00:48:59 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 2:

I got to know. Was he barefoot?

00:49:01 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. Well, flip-flops. I was living in a state where you could wear flip-flops.

00:49:08 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 5:

That is nasty.

00:49:09 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm just trying to be a little discreet.

00:49:11 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 5:

I feel like that's even worse. That's a dirty shoe and a dirty foot. You know what I mean?

00:49:15 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 2:

Bro, got to go home. Kaylee, what's up? Hey, Kaylee.

00:49:22 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

00:49:24 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 2:

What's up?

00:49:26 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

So I, okay, so I don't have a bar story, but I went to University of Toledo to get my degree, and during one of the games, my fiancé, well, my boyfriend at the time, now my fiancé, we went to the game. we went inside the game to watch the game while my friends were at the tailgating parking lot so after the game we went back to the parking lot um and as i was trying to find my friends to pick them up to take them home one of the frat guys was trying to flirt with me and take

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 2:

me home back to his place in front of my boyfriend oh that's really lovely what a dummy

00:50:06 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 1:

yeah i he was not impressed and my boyfriend kind of sat there i mean he's very introverted um so he definitely like didn't know what to say um but once he got in the car he was like why did he not see me there and i was like i don't know why does it feel like your boyfriend at

00:50:27 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 3:

some point would just watch you get abducted and just be like oh man tough you know in a situation

00:50:35 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 1:

like that he might but then again like he is very caring um so he might do his letter flight because he was a lifeguard at well back when he was in college so he might i'm sorry wait wait hold on

00:50:49 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 3:

hold on i know that we were about to hang up on you what does him having to be a lifeguard have

00:50:54 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 1:

anything to do with this well like his fight or flight kicking in when there's like an emergency

00:51:00 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 3:

situation i have never in the history of mankind heard somebody talk about their fight or flight reflexes and be like well i was a lifeguard so i got it together hey sink or swim

00:51:10 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 it's time to get dirty shannon second dirty of the day i'm still so mad that I said A$AP Rocky's real name wrong in the five at 6.55. I'm gonna be completely

00:51:25 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 4:

honest with you. I believe it's Rakim. I think his mom was a big Rakim fan. Okay. I feel so stupid.

00:51:32 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 2:

So thank you for telling me the correct pronunciation. Okay, big story. I mean, we're starting the dirty with this one. Yesterday, A$AP Rocky was found not guilty of felony assault charges related to that incident in which he was accused of shooting at a former friend and music collaborator in Hollywood, Cheers, broke out in the courtroom. I'm going to play it for you in just a second. After that, verdict was read, and he rushes into Rihanna's arms, his entire family in the courtroom for this.

00:51:58 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 5:

People of the state of California versus Rakeem Mayers, case number B-A-508142-01. We, the jury of the above entitled, actually find a defendant, Rakeem Mayers, not guilty.

00:52:15 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 2:

you can almost feel the tension in every like i watched so much dateline before they we the we the jury find the defendant that pause is like a year but he actually looked at the jury and said thank you all for saving my life you are making the right decision so this case started back in 2021 he was officially charged in 2022 if you're not aware with two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm for allegedly firing a handgun in the direction of Terrell Efron, whose professional name is ASAP Relly, during some sort of confrontation that they were having. He faced up to 24 years in prison had he been convicted. And I saw a story yesterday, a follow-up to him getting that not guilty verdict where Rihanna and ASAP promised to name their third child ASAP Joe if he was found not guilty after his attorney, Joe Takapina. Stop. I doubt that's going to happen, but yeah, it was made. So Zach O'Brien hanging out in a bar in the West Village, New York City, of course, gets invited to play pool with some other guys who were already hanging out in the bar. And they were fine. You can see them. It was all recorded on a pair of Meta glasses. They're like chatting, playing the game. everything is good until they weren't all of a sudden things got very heated when zach took issue with the fact that the meta glasses were recording his time in this bar understandably so and you're not going to be able to hear what he says at the very end but just so you can listen for it he's getting slammed this morning because at one point he comments to somebody quote unquote that is the gayest thing I've ever heard. Come on, Zach!

00:54:34 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 4:

And you're just being a fucking douche.

00:54:37 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 5:

You're so slave a dick. I'm gay as that. I'm so sorry. No, dude, we don't want to see it too much. Thank you. I'm gay as they ever heard. That was gay? Why was that gay? Why was that gay?

00:54:51 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing about this. When he is first walking into the bar and meeting these guys, they talk about the meta glasses. They talk about... The guy's wearing them. Somebody else tries them on. So it was very well known that the glasses were in play here. And then all of a sudden, he took issue with them. I don't know.

00:55:11 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 1:

Why did you have to know that language? Just stop saying stuff like that. I know. It reminds me of that Hilary Duff commercial. Do you remember? Like, I think it played on Disney or something. And it's like, you wouldn't say, oh, that's wearing a jean skirt at the top. No, I don't remember. Y'all, I'm going to have to pull this off for you. It's like, I'm sorry. I feel like I failed you. It was a don't say gay campaign. Okay. But like in a derogatory way. Okay.

00:55:34 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And lastly, the Vatican announcing yesterday that Pope Francis has developed pneumonia in both of his lungs. They're not commenting on any of the reports claiming the Pope believes death is imminent. But I do know he was initially hospitalized with bronchitis. Then they realized he had pneumonia, which is a far more serious infection, especially when both lungs are impacted. And even so, the Vatican says the Pope remains in good spirits. He's eaten breakfast today. He's read the newspaper and done a little bit of work. After watching The Conclave. Oh, yeah. I'm ready. Watch that movie, by the way. It's up for... Some Oscars. Yeah, it's up for some Oscars, including film of the year, but it's a good one. For all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:56:18 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning, Second Date Update, War of the Roses, Shannon's Dirty. This is your home of all of those. shannon's ex reached out to her and what shannon did next was it the right thing or the wrong thing we're gonna ask that question shannon what's going on i can already tell you it was the wrong

00:56:39 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 2:

um this so this is the my the the ex that is what is i don't know if he still is i think was a musician um so the guy that i was engaged to which is so weird we were just talking about him because my stepson remember i told you the story is like oh i'm a i'm a fan of this band i'm like oh great like i had to tell him the whole story so i get a text message and first off this relationship ended in 2008 2009 i think was really like the last time i actually spoke to him So I thought I had his number blocked and actually his number might be blocked. His number that he had, this might be a new number. I don't know the case. Or maybe I just deleted the number. Regardless, I get a text message that says, hi, is this still Shannon?

00:57:34 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 3:

So I think that's a spam one. I got one of those. I'd be like, delete junk.

00:57:41 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 2:

Then I am my 60 something year old mother because I write back. And say, hi, who's this? And then he writes his name with a little smiley face. So I write back, hi, question mark. And he writes, just saying hello, hope you're having a great day. That is probably where Zach is shaking his head. That is where I should have just not said anything more. Stupid me, right? Thanks so much. I always hope you are doing well. And he writes, yay, doing great. Love to your fam. So I am like, this is so weird. Why is he reaching out for this random reason? I have not talked to him in years and years and years and years.

00:58:27 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 3:

Maybe I missed it. When did he say it was him? Did I miss that?

00:58:29 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 2:

Right away. Like, hi, is this Shannon? The second text.

00:58:32 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 3:

With the smiley face, guys. Was it a hard smiley face or the hard eyes and the smiley face?

00:58:37 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 2:

No, it is literally just the, I'm showing everybody, just the standard smiley face. I show this text to Wes.

00:58:42 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. I thought you deleted it. You just said you deleted his number. That goes away when you delete his number.

00:58:49 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. I'm saying a long time ago when we broke up, I either blocked him and this is a different number or deleted him. I don't even remember what was the case.

00:58:56 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 3:

But I thought you deleted him this time, though, too.

00:58:58 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're getting ahead of the story because you already know how this ends. Okay. So I show this to Wes and say, you are never going to guess who reached out to me. and Wes looks at it and he said why did you respond after he said who he was yeah I mean that's a great question I'm like F you are right this is totally my nature to just be like hope hope you're great hope everything's good with you and Wes was like you do not need you do not owe him that you do not need to say that you should have just not responded at all so so I did so he is blocked now. I screenshotted this obviously because I had showed it to Wes and stuff and eventually wanted to make it a topic because that's our life. But I, looking back, thought that I was being quote unquote nice and really didn't even need to respond to it.

00:59:56 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

Let me add my wisdom to this.

00:59:57 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I can't wait.

00:59:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to add my wisdom.

01:00:00 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 2:

No, listen, I got to tell you. No, I'm going to tell you this. You always get called the smartest person on the show. Oh, this was dumb. No, I think there's nothing wrong with you responding back to it. This guy was part of your history and you saying, hey, hope you're doing great. You know, move on. It's not like you're responding and sending them like, you know, you know, a nude or something like that. You're you're you're just sending it back. And honestly, I think that you just being honest and telling Wes right away.

01:00:29 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 1:

Which I did.

01:00:29 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 2:

is the is the the right thing to do so i do find it very interesting and you got to tell me the time frame of this one do you think he heard us talk on the air about how wes's son was a listener or what was the what's the timeline of when he reached out to you to when wes is wes's son and

01:00:48 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 1:

you brought up this happened this actually happened before that this happened a while ago but i um needed to we needed to work through it before i brought it up on the air that's real being truth being very truthful about it so this happened before the the hey i'm a fan of this band

01:01:06 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 3:

conversation call me crazy first off i do think you entertained the foolishness so i'm kind of on west side but i could understand where you were coming from as well call me crazy though i feel like anybody that's from the past that's just trying to reach out not doing it out the goodness

01:01:20 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 1:

at a heart and just trying to see what's up that's what west said and he was like the he's like i know that you weren't trying to like do anything shady which obviously is why i showed him the whole conversation but he's like him reaching out is not for no reason exactly and he's like and you even responding is like that foot that you open the door keeps the door open just a little bit because he's like even the nice and he's right and i didn't see it that way in the moment and now looking back i do and i'm mad at myself and it is a lesson learned but that dress you had

01:01:56 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 3:

on at the auto show popped up on his for you page he couldn't resist uh-huh you think it was the auto show dress is the reason why shannon was looking cold that night but okay well the timing

01:02:09 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 2:

probably if shannon said that this has been a while that he reached out to you that foreshadowing never mind what's up uh mark wants to make a comment what's going on uh mark hi hey how are

01:02:22 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 4:

you good buddy what's up shannon you are okay how well relax first of all i don't think i don't know how your relationship with this guy back then like ended under the whole circumstance but i think it was a casual hey how are you hope all is well i mean i do not think you ignoring him would have been like i mean we're grown like this is come on like there's you did

01:02:51 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 3:

nothing wrong so but what's the purpose of even entertaining him like what's the purpose of this

01:02:57 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 4:

three-second conversation well again i don't know the detail and how long but the fact that he said you know love to the fam tells me he had a pretty close relationship with family so they could have had a couple year history and you know that's like that's like saying burn all your ex's pictures you just don't I don't know I disagree with you I think that that's apples and

01:03:20 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 1:

oranges I think that you don't need like I don't delete photos I think that that is all that's part you know part of your story but this is I don't need this back in my present see I don't like

01:03:33 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 4:

that he said have a or what did he say have a great day or hope like enjoy your I don't know i thought that was a little he could have said like whole ball as well you know yeah he could have kept it a little more casual but i definitely don't think my wife talks to her exes and i still talk to mine we all get together i don't know we're just not we're very i don't know i don't

01:03:56 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

like i don't like emojis i don't like any of the emojis in there even if it's a smiley face emoji that's too that's too friendly but i do say this i agree with you in the fact that we're all grown adults. If the guy sends you a text, you're not, it's not like you're opening up Pandora's box by just saying, Hey, all's good. Great. Thank you. Boom, move on. And you don't have to, you don't have to do long texts with them. If it's a quick little text, if it's a long text and you're telling them your life story and explaining to them how, you know, uh, everybody in the family is doing, then you're engaged more than just a quick text to, to, you know, make sure all as

01:04:32 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

well so when you say we're all adults are you saying that I'm not acting mature if I see the message and choose not to respond that's not mature that's not being an adult I think that if

01:04:42 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

I think that if I were to if if a client this is totally non-dating if a client from years ago that hasn't talked to Shannon in forever said hey Shannon just checking in how's it going and she found the need to answer him back there's no different she had less of a relationship with that client than she did with a man that she was going to marry Okay.

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 6:

i don't think that it makes a difference two totally different situations and i'm a jealous

01:05:03 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 7:

guy if chelsea's exes started texting her and she was having long conversations i'd be horribly jealous but if she said hey so-and-so reached out to me today i answered him back and she showed me the text exchange and it was what your text exchange was i move on i go okay no problem uh carlis what's up it's mojo in the morning what do you think about this uh carlis

01:05:23 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 1:

yes i love you mojo but i'm with west i am with west there's zero reason for communication and the high was one thing but then the second reply was i always hope you're doing well that implies that she thinks of him and we know it may not be the case but just the wording of it there's zero

01:05:46 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 7:

say that okay you're cutting out are you pushing buttons or hitting your your cheeks hitting the phone carlis carlis is a uh he is a latin he's a latin man with uh with uh lots of jealousy All right, go to Mike next. Mike, what's going on? A lot of guys texting in with this. I want to hear what the ladies have to say, too. What's up, Mike? How you doing?

01:06:20 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 5:

Still good, Mojo. How's it going? Good. What's going on? I wanted to comment on this.

01:06:25 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 4:

So my wife is a lot like Shannon. She's just a super bubbly, happy-go-lucky person, and she gets messages just like Shannon's describing all the time from guys she hasn't talked to or exes from her past, whatever. And I have to agree with Wes 100% because of the examples that I'm about to give. With the emojis, in my opinion, the emojis are a gateway to getting a D-Pick in the future. Unsolicited, not anything you're encouraging, but it happens. I swear to God. I swear to God. My wife will respond just like you did, Shannon. She'll be like, oh, nice to talk to you. Hope you're doing well, too. And then that guy gets drunk one night, starts crying and getting in his feelings, and then you end up getting slammed with the D-Pick and then you have to explain that to Wes.

01:07:11 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 6:

Well, his number has been blocked. Let the record show.

01:07:16 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 7:

That, by the way, is the greatest. The emoji is the...

01:07:19 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 6:

The gateway.

01:07:21 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 7:

Gateway to a D-Pick.

01:07:22 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 6:

Starts with a smile, leads to a sack. You never know.

01:07:25 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 7:

Liz, what's going on, Liz? Hi. Hello, Liz.

01:07:32 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, sorry, hi.

01:07:33 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's going on?

01:07:34 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. Yeah! how are you when i got married uh good how are you guys doing fantastic go ahead tell us what your story is go ahead so three years ago when i got married um all within a year i got a flood of texts from exes from past admirers uh did not entertain them whatsoever um my husband told me at some point he just didn't even want to know about it so my stance on it is I just feel like an ex is an ex for a reason unless we stayed in contact that entire time I don't see a reason to engage whatsoever I don't trust the intention of you reaching out after all of these years when we haven't stayed in touch and to be honest I'm perfectly happy right now you know I would not want to engage or do anything that I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with my husband doing

01:08:32 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. So do you think that this guy should just be blocked and be blessed and moved on?

01:08:41 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I don't know if you necessarily need to block him, but I wouldn't have responded. Clearly, he is definitely thinking about you, Shannon. I think it's probably a little bit more situational. I think the algorithm probably brought him over back to you somehow. Do I think he needs to be blocked? He doesn't seem like he needs to be, but if he reaches out again, I would block and move on.

01:09:01 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. And by the way, algorithm, is that also code for D-Pix about to come, too? Anna, are you there, Anna? Hi, Anna.

01:09:13 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:09:14 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 7:

Anna doesn't agree with you, Shannon. What do you want to say?

01:09:20 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't agree at all. I'm sorry, Shannon. Once you found out who it was, I feel like you should have just been like, um okay i don't need to talk to you i'm blocking you yeah you're right looking back you are right

01:09:36 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 7:

i was wrong i just think we're all grown people why do we have to be that way why does grown

01:09:42 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 6:

doesn't have to look and go ahead i'm sorry i don't want to interrupt you oh that's okay the

01:09:45 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

thing is um why is he reaching out and even if it's like something small he's gonna say like oh you know i just thought of you but for what reason are you thinking that we're gonna have more conversations, more texts after this, like what's the purpose?

01:10:00 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like he was part of her history, and if Shannon's gone through countless, you know, days since their relationship, there's no feelings for him, and I know that this has been a person that Shannon, I know, has probably gotten over, definitely gotten over through therapy, why not be able to go, hey, you know what, man, I hope you're doing okay, I'm doing great, I found a great man, I've got two wonderful children, and you know what, my life couldn't be better.

01:10:28 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Are you working with this man?

01:10:29 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:10:30 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 2:

Whose side are you on? Look, all history doesn't have to be revisited. And being an adult, quote unquote, doesn't look a certain way or in one direction. You can be an adult and be elevated if you want to and reach out and have no feelings. Or you can be an adult and say, this is my past and that's where I'm going to leave it.

01:10:48 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But I also think, too, that I think that it shows Wes that Shannon can have a past without the past coming back and being part of her present by just going, you know what, that's my hey, good luck to you. We're all you know, Shannon's a Christian, right? You know, if you saw him sitting on the side of the road, what do you do? You run over him?

01:11:12 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 2:

It's not the same situation. Don't try to move the goalposts.

01:11:15 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm not moving goalposts.

01:11:16 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 2:

If you saw him on the side of the road, stop playing.

01:11:20 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 3:

You know what, Mr., I am now a single man after this thing? I can't wait for all the booty ex-sex that you end up having.

01:11:28 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I told you, I ain't exploded since July. Okay. Oh, my God.

01:11:32 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 3:

You're going to, you call, you sit there and you preach a good game. Wait until the Monday morning when he comes in and goes, you're never going to believe what the hell happened to me this weekend. And I'm going to go, oh, let's go back to January 27th, 2025, Monday morning, 831, the year of the Lord.

01:11:54 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to say they were on the side of the road.

01:12:01 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 3:

Phone number 844 Mojo live. 844-665-6548. listening on channel 955 in detroit 104.5 snx in grand rapids muskegon in 92.5 kiss fm in toledo megan was asked to step outside were you were you asked to leave or to to wait outside it's funny

01:12:25 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 5:

the way that you um said that uh kind of implies why i was asked to step outside uh what was i

01:12:34 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 3:

asked to go up. What was your question? What happened? Explain what happened. So I am in a

01:12:40 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 5:

new era of my life and it's a, I'm going to wear that era. Okay. Yeah. I'm going to wear that. Good girl. And I just bought a pair of those. Like if you go to the gym, you probably see girls wearing these all the time. They're like the booty shorts, Spanx workout shorts. Are they actually Spanx? I mean, I see booty shorts all the time. They're not Spanx. We used to call them Spankies when I did competitive shirley day oh but it's like okay it's like they're like they're like three inchers yeah it's what the girls wear to play volleyball yes you know like i was wearing that and kind of

01:13:12 - 01:13:18 | Speaker 3:

an oversized t-shirt these yeah those yeah that's hot that's hot though when you do that with an

01:13:18 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 5:

oversized t-shirt yeah so i i forgot about something that the show was doing after the show today and so i was like oh i have to take an everything shower i don't have time to cook so on my way back to my uh apartment i was like i'm just gonna order some food to pick up from a restaurant near my apartment and I go into the restaurant to pick it up and they asked me to wait outside for my food and somebody would bring it out to me because I was dressed too inappropriately are you flipping kidding me to be inside no is it a nice restaurant ish I mean I would wear like a cute outfit if I was going there but like if I saw somebody waiting at the hostess stands I in what i was wearing i wouldn't go get them out of here i'm in a gown for my anniversary dinner and i'm spending four hundred dollars on a roasted chicken like that's that's not the vibe did it look like

01:14:09 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 3:

you were wearing nothing and that's why they asked you that or like i didn't think so i mean the shirt

01:14:13 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 2:

was like covering the shorts though so it just like it was close it was close okay but it wasn't

01:14:18 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 5:

like i was naked right yeah i don't know this place has a burger on their menu but it's like But a fancy burger. Like an expensive burger. Exactly what place you're at. Like a $20 burger.

01:14:28 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 4:

I know it.

01:14:29 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. There's definitely more than one place that's fancy burger.

01:14:33 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I have seen people in that place dressed very inappropriately, actually sitting and eating in that place. So give me a break. Right.

01:14:41 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 3:

Did they say to you that they, I'm sorry, but it's not appropriate? Or what did they, like, what did they say?

01:14:48 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 5:

They just said, oh, you know what? Why don't you step outside, and we'll have somebody bring it out to you.

01:14:56 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 5:

While giving you the up-down. Like, I knew what it was.

01:15:00 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 2:

interesting well i mean listen it is crazy but people do they do have dress codes at certain places like i would never i would never go into andiamo wearing uh a pair of just gym shorts and

01:15:12 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

a t-shirt you know what i mean like but if you were running in to pick up a carry order right carry out order excuse me from andiamo you're you are not going to dress up to pick up this carry

01:15:21 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 2:

out do they have a curbside and you're gonna run out if they had they don't have a curbside no so So it wasn't usual that they would do it. Because I have gone even just to restaurants that do have curbsides, and they'll say, if you want to wait in your car, we'll bring it out to you.

01:15:33 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 4:

No, I walk there. And quite honestly, I would not walk to go get my car to go wait in curbside either.

01:15:39 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 1:

Right. True. I don't like it, Megan.

01:15:43 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't like it either. Or storm the place. I don't like it either.

01:15:46 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 1:

Let's all wear booty shorts and storm the place. Wait, wait.

01:15:48 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if she's going to post it or not, but I sent a photo of me in these shorts. Oh, wait, I want to see. Let me see it. Yeah, send it to the group chat.

01:15:55 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 2:

Can I say this? Do you not like it enough to not eat their food and to turn away and go on the cellar? Oh, I want the phone. Because I'm going to say, that's when you know. Are you a full out, I'll go to a protest, I'm not going to do it, or I'm going to eat that burger. Like groceries. You can bring it to me wherever you want to bring it as long as I get it.

01:16:15 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, they're the short shorts. They're short. I'm not saying that they're not. Yeah, but if you were wearing an oversized shirt with them. Yeah.

01:16:23 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Look at those little legs.

01:16:24 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:16:25 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 4:

like little chickens

01:16:26 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

you would never in a million years before losing weight had ever sent us that picture aren't you proud of yourself

01:16:34 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 4:

I'm pretty proud of my legs

01:16:38 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 2:

what is this right here is that like a spot

01:16:40 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

no there's something

01:16:45 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was a blemish on the picture and I look and there's like

01:16:49 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 4:

a thing there so I actually took a video of me in these shorts and sent it to one of my girlfriends like can I wear these yet kind of being like do these look okay or are these weird and so it's a screen grab from the

01:16:59 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

video i sent her oh okay i thought there was like a zipper or something like that no i didn't take

01:17:03 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 4:

a picture of me in the outfit but i did i was like oh wait you know what i do have i sent it

01:17:07 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 2:

to my girlfriend a video uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 where did you get kicked out of has anybody ever been kicked out of a place uh or or you know i don't know anyway i think one time uh Somebody was telling me a story about how they got kicked out of a complete country. They got kicked out of Canada.

01:17:27 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 1:

No. But I got kicked out of a piston section. This is like way, way, way back in the day before I used to work there. I got kicked out of two things that day. This is my younger, wilder days. I left B-dubs, and I bought a ticket to the Lions game. And long story short, I walked down to the edge, the first row edge, leaned over, talked to a security guard, came back. this dude was in my seat got in an argument got in a fight got kicked out later realized i was in the wrong seat it was in a completely different section but then so i got kicked out and i was just mad drunk pulled up my phone after i went back to b-dubs realized the pistons played that night bought a ticket to the pistons game and i was like you know what i'm on it tonight i want to go sit front row and i walked down like walked out all the way down the stairs got like on the little front row part put my foot on the hardwood and then the security guard touched my chest i was like where's your ticket i was like uh my man's up there got it like that he's like nah and now look years later hey god's playing now you are uh working for us did i ever tell you

01:18:37 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

guys the story about how i got kicked out of a bar what happened this was like right before i moved here actually right before i moved back home to detroit i was on vacation with a guy that i was dating at the time and we were in key west and if you've ever been to key west you've 100 percent been to sloppy joe's it's like the bar that everybody goes to it's been in songs and i had had a lot to drink my the guy that i was dating at the time had picked me up and was like swinging me around the dance floor and i was wearing these bright orange like wedges and they kept hitting people on the dance floor and they warned me once and i kept doing it and so they finally said you have to leave and you are not welcome here so i got kicked out of a bar

01:19:19 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

that'll do it people out that'll do it funny that was the best part about hosting a club night for so long they can't kick you out it's your job to be there so you can break all the

01:19:28 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 2:

rules oh no i've seen jocks get kicked out of places like djs at the station get kicked out of businesses remember there was the one dj that got kicked out of that bar that we used to do in novi all the time oh i never did they acted like a fool um coyote ugly i did love kiss baby donnie donnie texted and asked a question she said does the restaurant have a dress code

01:19:49 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 4:

did you i don't know i don't know i feel like every place downtown does have a dress code and it's like hit or miss on whether or not it's going to be something like they'll say something

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 1:

like something business casual or sometimes they'll do that. But if they have a dress code, you have to follow their dress code. They say that they have a dress code.

01:20:08 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

I get that, but I feel like...

01:20:11 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 1:

There's places that say no jeans. They don't want jeans. But that's advertised, though.

01:20:14 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

If it's not advertised. There is no dress code on their website. Yeah, and think about it. A warm thing?

01:20:21 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, they can say proper attire. I've seen them tell people with hats, like, Kevin, you can't wear a hat. There's a lot of businesses that say that they don't want you having hats on.

01:20:29 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but don't you see that enforced mostly on busy Friday and Saturdays and not on like a mid, yeah.

01:20:36 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I feel like downtown Detroit restaurants are now all hopping all the time. What's up, Julie?

01:20:42 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I live in Grand Rapids and I had a food order that I had gone to pick up. And when I went into the place to pick it up, I looked at it to make sure the order was right and the food was not acceptable. It actually looked really gross, and so I said something, and the owner got really, really kicked off at me and was saying that, you know, I had no business critiquing his food, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and I said, you know, I don't even want it. I want my money back, and so he had kicked me out, and I was just so, you know, upset about it and self-righteous, and I went to leave to slam his door, and it was one of those pneumatic doors. So I went to sleep, slam it, and it goes.

01:21:30 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:21:33 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 4:

I was so embarrassed.

01:21:36 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 1:

The customer is not always right at that restaurant. That's amazing, though. Just for making. Yeah. It's like the soup Nazi from the old Seinfeld shows that tells them no soup for you. Jenna, what's up?

01:21:49 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I actually got kicked out of one of the pools in Put-in-Bay. I kept doing belly flops, and I was getting all of their computer systems wet, so they gave me a warning. Unfortunately, I was under the influence, so I did not listen very well and eventually got kicked out.

01:22:03 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. A belly flop. I just know that was A-Dub's computer, and I just know he was pissed at you, and you ended up on his Instagram.

01:22:14 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 1:

You know?

01:22:16 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 3:

Let me guess. I'm not aware of that. Was it the pool attached to the hotel with the subway? Yes. Yes, that was A-Dub. I just, I knew it.

01:22:25 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 1:

You know that you're not following rules when you get kicked out of anywhere and put in bay.

01:22:30 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, right?

01:22:32 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 1:

Michael, what's up? Where'd you get kicked out of?

01:22:35 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we got kicked out of AJ's Fun Park, which is like a mini golf and go-kart place. I'm a youth director at church, and I took all the boys one night down to AJ's in Grand Rapids, and we got a little rambunctious and got kicked out. So we went to Holland for the other one and got kicked out of there, too.

01:22:56 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, and you're the youth director.

01:22:59 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 2:

Two of them. Yeah.

01:23:01 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 1:

That's the church I want to go to. We actually have somebody that texted in and said I was kicked out of a church. What? I want to know why. Right. I want to know why they were kicked out of a church. You'll have to call us up. Wendy, where'd you get kicked out of?

01:23:15 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 6:

I was at a gay bar in Palm Springs, California. It was like a karaoke-type bar, but my husband and I, we go there all the time. He goes there for business, and he takes me with him. And we had so much fun. We were singing karaoke. And this guy from Scotland, there was like some tennis tournament going on there in Palm Springs at the time.

01:23:43 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:23:44 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 6:

It happens every year. And anyways, the guy started hitting on me, and my husband went and picked him up by the neck. And then it just caused this huge fight, and the bartenders were like, they stopped it all. They kicked all those people out, but they let us finish our Cosmos before we got kicked out, though.

01:24:03 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 1:

So, wait, you let your husband get kicked out, and then you still continued drinking your drink?

01:24:08 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I finished my Cosmos.

01:24:09 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 1:

here he is he's he's fighting for your for your honor and he's in the parking lot while you're

01:24:17 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 6:

drinking your cosmo yeah and you know what we still go we still go there all the time i mean it's my favorite place in the world and it's so much fun but that one incident was just you know

01:24:29 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 1:

crazy yeah uh tiffany was kicked out of a comedy club for what tiffany

01:24:33 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 7:

Me and my girlfriends went to California for a bachelorette party, and we were hammered by the time we got there, and when we got there, apparently we were laughing too loud at the jokes that the other guests couldn't enjoy the comedy show, so we got kicked out for laughing too loud.

01:24:52 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 1:

At a comedy club.

01:24:53 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 7:

I don't feel like that's the whole story. I don't feel like there's more that you guys are doing.

01:25:00 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 1:

Hey, we're a good bunch. We're a rowdy bunch. The funniest is the people that are texting us right now, I got kicked out of a strip club for spending too much money, somebody said. Okay. Another person said that they were kicked out also for not wearing appropriate clothing. They said that they were asked to leave. And then a person, this is wild, that person from the church one, we tried to call three times. We've had three other people kicked out of a church. I've never heard of this before. How does a person get kicked out of a church? But these guys aren't giving us their stories. They're just sending the text in. So pick up our phone number when we call you up. We'll call from an unidentified number. Kev, you're hanging out with your grandma. It's mojo in the morning. Spending a lot of time with the woman that you love.

01:25:49 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 2:

Man, I love Grandma Ruth. She is everything. My little angel. And actually, she'll be 94 next month. Wow. She's at an age where she's like, I don't want to do anything. Leave me alone. She shouldn't have to. Yeah. Well, I mean, in terms of like celebrating. I'm at that age right now, too. In terms of like celebrating her life, like she doesn't want to do anything. But to your point, I've been spending a lot of time with her. We got a Costco run on Thursday. Not looking forward to that at all. But I'm here for her.

01:26:17 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 1:

Why? Does that take a long time to go through?

01:26:19 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 2:

Grandma is, although she's 94, her nickname is Pit because she is a pit bull. And she is extremely feisty. feisty she is i can do anything even at 94 so she won't just sit down by the nice little hot dog and pizza stand she wants to walk around costco and get everything like she did when she was 30 years old and we just don't have five hours to do that so i'm not looking forward to that part when i told her to sit down i got it was a whole thing but yesterday because it's a week with grandma i'm over to her home and she wants to clean up her basement and at first it was a oh my god then i I was like, you know what? It's grandma. Like, grandma can get what grandma wants. Yeah. So I grabbed a little bag, a little trash bag. We started, you know, throwing away stuff. And then she realized, oh, we got some old clothes. We should put those together and give them away because people need clothes. So as we're putting away the clothes, I start seeing old game boards that I used to play. I see life. I see Monopoly. I see all these things. I'm having all these flashbacks. I get over to the bookshelf. I'm starting to see, like, not yearbooks, but, like, what's the old photo albums? Oh, yeah. That had, like, the paper, the sticky paper that you peel back. I'm seeing pictures of my mom when she's, like, six years old. People were dressing all funny. It's like I'm having a great time. And I'm also looking through the bookshelf, and I see something that I didn't need to see. I saw two sex books on my grandmother's bookshelf. Hell, yeah. These are explicit sex books. These are picture books with scientific terms of certain body parts and how to do this to a woman. Now, they all had to please a woman. So, you know, she was about herself at that point. Or somebody was lacking and she needed somebody to step up their game. Grandpa James needed some instructions. Notice how he didn't need any help. I looked on my grandma's bookshelf and I saw how to treat a woman.

01:28:15 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait. I was interested, man. Is that weird for you to know that your grandma is?

01:28:21 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 2:

Listen, obviously I got here, right? I know how Josiah and Jaron got here. I know my mom got here. But it's certain people you just don't see in that way. Yeah. And my grandma is like, oh, and this is probably the song, too. I couldn't believe it.

01:28:39 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 1:

Those books from way back when, did they have pictures in them? Yes. Or did they draw pictures?

01:28:44 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 2:

No, they had, like, pictures, like body part pictures, like very specific pictures. Good. He needed help. The female areas.

01:28:52 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 1:

By the way, this is, you know what this is like for you? This is like when kids find their parents like sex toys and stuff like that. But you found it your grandma's.

01:29:01 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 2:

That would probably be worse. A sex toy has to be worse than a sex book. Because you know it's like presents.

01:29:08 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and if it's out of the wrapper, did grandma want to donate that book? Or she said, keep that book up there?

01:29:14 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

She said, give it to Sheree. She gave it to me and said, give it to Sheree.

01:29:20 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 1:

when was it printed by the way do you know it just looks old it looks old i'll tell you when i get home like i think i 70s they all had bushes back then too didn't they i didn't see bush in the book i think no bushless book it was a book i think they all think back then it was like

01:29:38 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 2:

they needed to make sure that all the demonstrating was very clear there were no instructions

01:29:41 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah this is that um what do you do what do you do when you find you find like you know things at your parents' house or your grandparents' house like that and you're like, oh my God, I can't believe it. Poor bleach in your eyes. Do you realize with the Utes of America

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 2:

what they're going to have story-wise later in life with now weed being so predominantly legal.

01:30:06 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 7:

I just feel like older people need to learn how the internet worked and then they needed to learn what private browsing was. Because I don't need to pick up your phone and go to Google something and say it and go, I know.

01:30:17 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 2:

See, no, that's why you delete your history. They have it this hour, this afternoon. Yes. Oh. No one knows? I remember my dad when I found my dad's Playboy magazines. In the basement, too. So my dad had his office in the basement. That was where his man cave, they didn't call it man caves. I don't think back then it was his office. And I remember going into my dad's office and opening up the drawer to his desk. And it was like a stack of cowboy magazines.

01:30:45 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 1:

My friend's dad used to throw his under the couch. And so we would build forts. And then, of course, you reach under there and you're like, whoa!

01:30:54 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 2:

It's like dad's a pervert. Are pages sticky or not? No, actually, they were pristine, like almost they weren't opening. My dad kept saying, I'm saving them for the articles. Heather, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:31:07 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

01:31:08 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:31:09 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 6:

A few years ago, my Nana passed at 83, and we had to go down to settle her estate. We were trying to find – she had some pretty well-to-do jewelry, and we didn't want to leave it there. So we're going through trying to find it, and I'm like, where does an 83-year-old hide their jewelry? because, you know, they're finicky about that. So I'm going to her bedroom drawers, we'll say. I found both of her toys. One, yes. One of them was from the 50s. It looked like something you would get from Ace Hardware. It had a plug. It had a plug for an outlet. It did. It did. And the other one was a silver bullet. And I'm like, Mom. And I'm like, please tell me this isn't what I think it is. And I am still, I mean, I knew she was feisty, but I was like, oh, God, Grandma, no. Please, Nana, no.

01:32:04 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 7:

At a certain age, don't you know it's time for me to get rid of this so that others don't find it? I mean, that's not.

01:32:11 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, Grandma. Yeah.

01:32:13 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 4:

It's in the last minute.

01:32:13 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 6:

The newer one, the newer one had fresh batteries.

01:32:17 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

01:32:19 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 6:

That was the most scarring part. Oh, oh, oh, oh.

01:32:23 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love you.

01:32:24 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 2:

Larissa, what's up?

01:32:27 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 3:

Hey, my sister-in-law's grandpa, they were going through some of their stuff, found her grandpa's sex book. In this case, they had circled some of the favorite ones they wanted to try together. It's like a kid in a toy book.

01:32:44 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 7:

This one and this one.

01:32:48 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 2:

Fran, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:32:50 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 5:

yeah i was home from college and my dad was like hey your grandma's got dentures she lost them can you go help her find them which of course she lost her dentures is that what you said yeah can you go she just got them it was like five days can you help her find them so home from college i went and then i was like oh maybe they're in her nightstand and i looked and it was just full of sex toys what the heck oh yeah that's a known thing you're not supposed to open

01:33:17 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 2:

that i was like what she's like 80s she lost her teeth she was using it so much cassandra all gums cassandra what's going on

01:33:32 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 4:

hi um i just wanted to say that um i was cleaning out my parents bedroom um we were selling their house they had both passed away and um this was just a few years ago but um Not only did I find their whole toy collection, all of it, but in the bottom drawer of their dresser and a little Kroger bag was all of their homemade photos.

01:33:55 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 2:

Homemade. Like their photos of themselves.

01:34:00 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a lot of them.

01:34:02 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 2:

Like back then it was probably Polaroids, right?

01:34:05 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 4:

They were, yeah.

01:34:07 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I like it. It's like coming out of the machine. You know how it does that? And you got to hold on a second. Let me shake it in the air.

01:34:15 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 1:

You know, I did that boudoir suit for Wes as a wedding gift, and I walked into our closet the other day, and he had the box that I, like, put the photos in just, like, propped up, like, for everybody to see. I go, why would you have that? Are you out of your mind?

01:34:29 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 7:

Display that. Hide that. Not display that. Oh, we got to go to Shannon's house.

01:34:35 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 6:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:38 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 2:

It is time now for the second date update on the Mojo in the Morning show. Why are you not getting a call back? We're going to find out. So, Sean is trying to figure out why you're not getting a call back. Hey, Sean.

01:34:51 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hey, what's going on?

01:34:53 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Why would anybody ghost you, Sean?

01:34:56 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know, man. I'm trying to figure that out myself, actually. First off, how did you guys meet, and how many times have you guys been together? Have you guys been out with each other?

01:35:07 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, we met on Tinder, and, you know, we connected, and then we went out a few times. So it wasn't just like a one-time thing.

01:35:16 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 4:

So you've had multiple dates, but now you're not getting calls back. And are you texting a bunch and trying to see what you can do? Like, what was the last text that you sent?

01:35:30 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 1:

The last text I sent was, hey, is everything okay? Because I hadn't heard from her in a minute.

01:35:35 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 4:

And what was the reply? Nothing. Crickets.

01:35:39 - 01:35:39 | Unknown:

Crickets.

01:35:40 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to find out what's going on. We've got Jasmine on the phone with us right now. Jasmine, you're cool with being on the radio with us. We appreciate that. Will you say hello to Sean?

01:35:50 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 2:

Hello. Yeah, hello. Can you hear me? Yeah. Hi. How are you?

01:35:57 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm good. I'm trying to see how you are. Like, what's going on with you?

01:36:05 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm great. Thanks.

01:36:08 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 4:

Jasmine, has it just been a busy time for you, or have you been getting Sean's calls, and did you get his last text?

01:36:18 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah, but, yeah, I've been busy. Yeah, sure.

01:36:25 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 1:

I mean, you couldn't say you were busy. I mean, you could have responded and said, hey, I'm busy.

01:36:31 - 01:36:32 | Unknown:

That's not true.

01:36:33 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I thought you got the hint. I really didn't know how to, like, say anything. Like, so I just.

01:36:43 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 4:

Why did you want to send a hint? What was it that made you not or makes you not want to hang out with Sean or get together again?

01:36:55 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, I mean, we went on a few dates, and he was nice, you know, like at first or whatever, I don't know. And we met on Tinder, but I was out one night, and I mean, I don't know if you want me to put this out there, but since you called me on the morning, you, basically, I was in prison, and he showed up, and i saw him maybe like an hour after i got there and so obviously i went over and i was like hey what's up how are you and i was like oh who are you here with because i didn't see anybody with him and i'm looking around for his friend or somebody and he's like oh no i'm just here by myself and i'm like okay and he's like yeah i saw like you posted that you were here and i'm like Like, what do we, what? Why would you even tell me that? It was so weird.

01:37:53 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 4:

So, Sean, you saw that she was there and you just showed up? Is it because you weren't getting calls back or is it because you just wanted to see her?

01:38:02 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it was a little bit of both. You know, I had to hear me hitting her up and...

01:38:07 - 01:38:07 | Unknown:

Yeah, nah, nah.

01:38:08 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 2:

But that's weird. That's weird. And I'd be super creeped out. Hold on, hold on. I can't, I'm sorry to cut you guys. But there's no way it could have been a little of both because we had just been going out. Like, I had this, me not speaking to him, like, with his reason. Like, this happened before that. So, that's not true. Like, let's not come on here and lie. You know? So, I don't know. You definitely, I had just gone out with him, like, maybe like a week before that. And then he showed up. Like, it wasn't like I was ignoring him at that time. So, that's not true. Just want to clarify that.

01:38:41 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

So, Sean, you were kind of creeping on her.

01:38:45 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 1:

No, man, I wasn't creeping, man. I mean, if you put it on your Snapchat that you were somewhere, I'm like, oh, shoot, she there, let me go there. And, you know, I'm like, I showed up, and she put it on her Snapchat. If you don't want nobody to know where you were, why don't you put it out there for the work?

01:39:02 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 3:

So, Sean, if she posted herself cooking in the kitchen, would you just go to her house and open the window and slide in because she posted, so she must want you there?

01:39:10 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 1:

No, that's creepy. Right.

01:39:12 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

That's creepy. But showing up at her plans unannounced is not creepy?

01:39:17 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 1:

In a public way.

01:39:18 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 3:

By himself.

01:39:20 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Mind you, he didn't even have a friend with him. But he came home.

01:39:25 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 1:

It's a public place. You know, I wouldn't show up at a house, but the rest of us, yeah. Like, you were the boss.

01:39:31 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 2:

So how was I supposed to even respond to you? Now you're going to call me on here. Why am I not speaking? Like, I thought you understood that. Like, I didn't know if you were going to, like, find my house or something. I just thought it would be better just to not even, like, give you any ammunition. So, I don't know. This is, like, super weird, actually.

01:39:50 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 4:

Sean doesn't sound like the creepy kind of guy. I know this, you know, sounds weird that sometimes creepy kind of guys have a sound to him.

01:39:56 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

But he doesn't sound like that. But what he did, obviously, was creepy.

01:40:00 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 9:

But I'm also under the belief that if you like a guy enough, like if that guy's hot, like somebody that you're really into, that would excite you that he just showed up.

01:40:09 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. Yeah, I don't.

01:40:12 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 10:

This is one of the, like, normally I say that, oh, if he was hot, it would be okay. I still feel like it would freak me out a little bit. His intentions seem to.

01:40:20 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 7:

It wasn't like we had been dating for a long time. Like, we had only done a few days. Like, it wasn't like, I don't care who it is. Like, it's weird to always go out, like, a couple times, and then you just show up places by yourself.

01:40:30 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 2:

Time out, time out, time out.

01:40:31 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 7:

Like, you could have released by a friend and said you had someone with you. Hold on.

01:40:35 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 9:

Time out, Sean. Go ahead. What's up?

01:40:37 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 2:

Y'all not about to paint me like I'm some freak, creep master.

01:40:42 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 9:

No, we're not going to do that.

01:40:44 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 2:

You posted on your Snapchat. You were out. I saw it. I decided to show up so I can't see you. You ain't like that. Oh, my God. You could have told me that that night.

01:40:54 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 10:

He is not going to understand this.

01:40:56 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 9:

Erica. Erica wants to comment. A listener of ours wants to comment. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Second date update if you want to make a comment. Hi, Erica.

01:41:06 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I kind of agree with you, Mojo. I feel like a lot of times when somebody comes off a little too strong, it just means that the person's not that into them. I think if you really liked him, you would say that he showed initiative and all that stuff.

01:41:20 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 9:

Like this is what a girl's...

01:41:22 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 4:

What world do you live in?

01:41:23 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 9:

Girls want a guy that shows initiative and says something. Here's a guy that shows up at a bar, basically say, hey, I saw you were on Snapchat. I want to come up and see you. But I don't want to be stalked. Is he stalking if she's excited to see him? If she's excited to see him, it's not stalking.

01:41:39 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 8:

There is a difference between us talking and saying, hey, I'm going out with my girlfriends. This is where we're going to be, yada, yada, yada, versus me posting on social and you just showing up unannounced.

01:41:50 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 9:

So he should text her ahead of time and say, I see that you're out. Can I come up? If he was going to come, he just shouldn't have said how he knew she was there. He should have just showed up. Well, that's it. Lie. I agree with you. You're too honest of a guy, John. What's up, Angelica? But I said that name really works.

01:42:08 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Good morning.

01:42:10 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 9:

I need a breathalyzer test because I just said your name like I was drunk. Hi, Angelica.

01:42:14 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Hi. It's Angelica from Detroit. First time long. Hey there. Hey, Angelica on the phone. Thank you. And yes, my kid is not in the car. It's just the baby. She's one.

01:42:25 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

01:42:25 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 3:

No, it can lead to, like, stalking. I had a situation, and yes, everybody posted things on social media. It does. He could have just said, oh, I just so happened to, like, be here. But it is pretty creepy because something serious like that happened, and it can lead to, like, a situation.

01:42:41 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 9:

What happened? The guy started showing up at your places?

01:42:45 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Like, everywhere I posted because I'm pretty popular on social media. So I would post, like, oh, we're hanging out here, me and my friends. And, like, he would, like, just randomly be at places. He came to my job before.

01:42:56 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 9:

Oh. That's crazy. You don't, man.

01:42:59 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 3:

Most of you leave.

01:43:01 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 9:

Watch out.

01:43:02 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 3:

She has to protect herself. I can see how it's creepy.

01:43:04 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 9:

Angelica, thank you for the call. What's up, Miracle?

01:43:07 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:43:08 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 9:

Hey, Miracle. What's going on? Second date update. What did you want to say?

01:43:12 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 6:

So I think it was really cute because if I'm dealing with somebody and we've been kicking it for a bit and he show up okay now we're about to have a time yeah we at the bar we're about to have a time i don't think there was anything wrong with it maybe i'm weird okay well the last caller

01:43:27 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 9:

brought up a really good point about the stalking part you just say that it sounds good uh what

01:43:32 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 5:

about you rebecca what do you say yeah i mean we're living in a in a culture like a hookup culture right where men are not making an effort and so you got this guy who's actually making an effort to show up more than just a hookup well now that's creepy truly we are also in the era

01:43:51 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 8:

of murder documentaries and we've seen this play out but hey at least you're showing him you're showing attention if you're murdering somebody was just really going out of his way to follow

01:44:01 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 5:

women and show up and what you're on social media saying here i am come murder me and then upset

01:44:09 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 1:

This is mental blaming.

01:44:11 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 5:

This is mental blaming.

01:44:13 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 4:

He said I'm not a murderer. Sean is not.

01:44:15 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:44:18 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 9:

Symphony, second date update. What do you think? Is Sean a murderer?

01:44:23 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I do not define that as creepy or a murderer. That is actually so cute.

01:44:28 - 01:44:28 | Unknown:

What?

01:44:29 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 9:

Would you like Sean's number?

01:44:33 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 6:

Actually, I have a boyfriend, and his name is Sean.

01:44:36 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 9:

Oh, okay. Well, it makes it less confusing. All right, but you thought it was – if your guy showed up at the bar, the guy that you were just starting to date just a few times, showed up at the bar like Sean did to Jasmine, you would actually think that it was cute. A lot of people, by the way, are saying that, Megan. A lot of people saying that.

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 8:

This is so – this truly is wild to me. I feel like you had a conversation with the audience when I wasn't paying attention. I did. I'm not leaving.

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 3:

You played something on the air like the password is. Please call in and say this guy.

01:45:06 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 4:

I said, where are my creeps at? Where are my creepies?

01:45:08 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand how every caller is saying that.

01:45:11 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 4:

Eric sides with the fact that he thinks it's creepy for a reason. What is that, Eric?

01:45:18 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 1:

It's only creepy if he drove more than 20 minutes. If you drive further, that's a creep.

01:45:24 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 4:

How long of a drive was it, Sean? 20 minutes. Okay. Shut up, John. He just made me. He's just under the creepy wire. There you go.

01:45:37 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:45:40 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, third, dirty. What we got? All right, so. Exciting. Authorities are going to be spending the next couple of days combing through the wreckage of that Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis that crashed upon landing in Toronto on Monday, coming to a rest completely upside down. I saw even more new videos of this thing last night. I mean, it is crazy to me. But officials say it's still too early to speculate about what may have caused the crash. Again, no lives were lost. There were about 20 people who were injured. But a former Delta pilot is commenting on this.

01:46:16 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 1:

My name is Mark Stevens. I'm a retired Delta captain. I spent 32 years in the airline industry. I have watched the video and done it second by second. the aircraft is coming in for landing as it touches down everything looks normal until the right main right after touchdown basically fails i can't tell from the video if the right tire failed first if there was something that struck on the runway when the wing strikes the runway and tears itself open that's when you see the immediate fire and that's the fuel because both wings carry fuel now the other wing it's still flying so as it continues down the runway that wing flies all the way around to the other side, which means the tail gets ripped off as it goes through it. That's how the aircraft ends up upside down because the left wing is always flying. I don't see a pilot error in this. That's the interesting part of what

01:47:06 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 3:

he had to say. Obviously, he spoke for much longer. I edited that, but he said, I don't think that this is pilot error. Right. I mean, using my eyeballs, I watched the video. Looks like an unplowed runway that it just slid on. The L.A. home of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban broken into on Valentine's Day. We're just getting some details about this. They were not home at the time. However, somebody that works for them was there, and she scared this person off from the story that I'm getting. How did this intruder get in in the first place? Smashed a window, got right in. Unclear what, if anything, had been stolen. And so far, police have no leads and have made no arrests. The name change that has been heard around the world. Meghan Markle making an announcement on her Instagram that she is officially, I like her, that she is officially changing the name of her lifestyle brand, formerly known as American Riviera Orchard.

01:48:03 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 2:

Last year, I thought, you know what, American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name. It's my neighborhood. It's a nickname for Santa Barbara. but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area then netflix came on not just as my partner in the show but as my partner in my business which was huge i thought about it and i've been waiting for a moment to share a name that i had secured in 2022 and this is the moment and it's called as ever as ever essentially means as it's

01:48:35 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 3:

always been if you follow her on instagram that's how she's been signing all of her posts lately as 12, so you kind of knew that name change was coming. What was the original name? American Riviera Orchard. Yeah, I probably would have changed it, too. Yeah, it smells cool. She was calling it Arrow. I mean, it had like a... Was she? Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know that. I love how you presented that like it was a very serious news story, by the way. Well, I mean, you know, here or overseas, people are talking about it. It sounded like a dateline story. People poo-poo on her, and it drives me crazy. I agree. Because I'm like, who cares? How does it affect you?

01:49:06 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 2:

I agree.

01:49:07 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, a preview of some new music we are about to get from Selena Gomez and Gracie Abrams. Yes, a collab. It is called Call Me When You Break Up. Call me when you break up. I want to be the first time on your mind when you wake up. I miss the way we stay up. We talk about forever when I'm taking my time to make up. Okay, I finally just figured it out. I listened to the song this morning before the show. I'm like, what does it remind me of? Everything is awesome.

01:49:34 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 4:

What does that for you have on the Lego movie, doesn't it?

01:49:39 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 3:

Everything is cool when you're part of a team. Yes, it just clicked in my brain. That's what it is. Oh, I feel better. Anyway, there you go. For all of today's Dirty Catch-Up on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio app or emojointhemorning.com.

01:49:52 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 4:

Mojo on the Morning Show.

01:49:55 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 3:

Shannon.

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Are you a superstitious person?

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. A little stitious. I'm a little, yes, I'm a little stitious.

01:50:05 - 01:50:07 | Speaker 4:

You are? Do you have like some superstitions?

01:50:07 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm weird about certain things. Like Mojo always talks about how he drives the exact same way to work every day. Even if there's construction, he will figure out like how to manage coming to work the same way. I guess I'm like that when it comes to routine things. Like the order in which I do things in the shower, for example, or the order in which I put on my makeup. Megan I don't know if you are that way it's really weird I don't ever change that up but yesterday Wes and I were talking about this because he had a very very important day at work he was giving a presentation that he's been preparing for essentially since his very first day that he started with this new company which was at the beginning of the year and so it it's just been a big deal it's been talked about a ton in our household we've been praying about it. I mean, he and he was ready. He was very confident going into this presentation that it was going to be good. So he texts me after the show and said, it almost was really bad. And I said, why? Well, apparently he went through the Tim Hortons drive through on his way into the office and he ordered a coffee and a breakfast sandwich. And he didn't hear the total at the little drive through, you know, speaker. He didn't hear the total until he got to the window. And the lady said that will be 666 oh no he was like add one single timbit to my order this is about to be a really big day for me and not today satan no not we're not we're not having my total being 666 so she added a timbit which is what like a buck to the order so that it changed his total and he could go on with this date and by the way it went great and he was really happy

01:51:50 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 4:

but had he not yeah things could have went crazy yeah he was like would you have done that and i

01:51:55 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 2:

said yes absolutely i'm glad absolutely i could not roll my eyes harder you're not a superstitious person no what is going to getting a tim horton's order is not going to change the outlook of my

01:52:07 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 4:

preparedness i think these are little baby science i'm with it oh my god i'm with it how do you feel 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what is your superstition i'm 100 in agreements with west It could be the energy that you give towards it But I feel like things have power If I see that 666 I'm going to pray over it Whatever is the cheapest item on the menu ma'am

01:52:29 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 3:

Can you add that? See to me that's a sign that Jesus just also wanted me to have a Timbit Today Although bring back the sour cream Glazed Tim Hortons

01:52:38 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 4:

Plus Wes is so Canadian The moment you said Tim Hortons I was like this tracks This is serious It tastes better in Canada though

01:52:46 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 2:

I keep hearing that It's not the same. I keep hearing that.

01:52:50 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 4:

So when I do Michigan State games, I don't know if it's superstition. Well, I think it is now. I think I've defined it, and you've given me a word that I feel comfortable with. Before every game, I have to walk the full length of the court. So I walk through the tunnel. I come out like the visitor's tunnel. I walk from basically outside the walkway all the way down to the next baseline. I don't go past the baseline, and then I look up, and I take like three or four breaths, and then I walk back. And if I don't do that, I feel off. Because like you said, it is that routine. And I've never had a bad game. And I won't stop doing this. Because I guess I'm superstitious. What is it with the makeup thing that you talked about?

01:53:32 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just have a very certain order of the way that I put on my moisturizer and then my sunscreen. And then I do my foundation. And then I curl my left eyelashes. And then I curl my left. It's so weird.

01:53:46 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 2:

That's not superstition. But if I do it out of order, I will forget to put on mascara. It's dumb, but it's not like my day is going to be ruined. It's just like, I'll forget a step if I don't do it in this order.

01:53:57 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we got Phil on the line. Phil has a very interesting superstition. Phil, what's up, my man? Phil. Yeah, what's up, Phil?

01:54:09 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 1:

So mine is ladybug. So a few months ago, I was driving away from the gas station, and I noticed a ladybug on my windshield. So being the person I am, I was like, yo, I got you this ladybug off my windshield without killing it. Yeah, you can't kill him. Sorry. That was very triggering to me. So I stopped. I stopped immediately. And I got some piece of paper I found on the floor and proceeded to try to get this thing off my windshield because it wouldn't leave and get away from the car without killing it.

01:54:41 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 4:

Phil, do you remember when you first heard about this, that if you killed a ladybug, that was bad luck? Like, where did this come from?

01:54:49 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 1:

No, this is a thing. No, it's not. It's not a thing. It's not a thing.

01:54:54 - 01:54:55 | Unknown:

This is a thing.

01:54:55 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Trust me. It's not. The way Shannon reacted to it makes me feel like it's a thing.

01:55:00 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 6:

If that's true, I would have been struck down by lightning because I used to vacuum up thousands of ladybugs a year that were in the house. Thousands. I'd be dead. It's not a thing.

01:55:12 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 3:

Let's see what Paris' thing is. Paris, are you superstitious?

01:55:18 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I am. But it's from my grandmother like you growing up. My grandmother said every time someone sweeps your feet, you got to spit on it. So one day I was at you, one child.

01:55:27 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 6:

Wait, wait, wait. Back up. repeat that one more time what what when you when you sweep your feet you have to spit on the broom

01:55:36 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 1:

if not it's bad luck my grandma taught me that because okay so i was at work one day this one guy was sweeping with construction and then he swept my feet and i grabbed the broom and spit on it and he thought i was kidding and he swept my feet again i'm like dude then he kept pulling the broom away and we almost got into it i'm like hey give me that damn broom too I'm like, then I went to the manager. Hey, did you buy the, hey, give me the broom. And I snatched it from him. I spit on it. And I looked at him. I gave him that look. Like, we give him looks. I'm like, hey, don't do that again. Bruh. Man. But yeah, but when the number come up and it's like that, like Mojo did, I do the same thing. Give me something. I can't have that number either. So I'm very superstitious.

01:56:14 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 6:

I just assume everywhere you walk, your head is always down looking for cracks. Can I snap on a crack?

01:56:19 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you break your mama back. I'm telling you, we walking over cracks. That's for sure. we got Megan on the line who has a superstition Megan what's yours so I'm a surgeon and I operate

01:56:30 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 7:

on Wednesday so I'm on my way to surgery right now actually oh my goodness and I um and I wear the same t-shirt under my scrubs I have for years and it was starting to get kind of stinky so thankfully I found the exact same t-shirts my Florida State t-shirt because that's where I went to undergraduate okay and it has to be the exact same same color same style same print on the front and i also wear the same eye shadow every week when i operate okay i am not poo-pooing

01:56:57 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 6:

on a surgeon i will tolerate this i will tolerate all the things yeah for sure i will tolerate this only because you have lies in your hand yes it's just eyes i mean eyes okay eyes are pretty important yeah yeah well now it's back on the bs side and i think you're ridiculous take a shower

01:57:20 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 3:

listen megan you're doing the same thing michael jordan does michael jordan wore his north carolina college shorts under every single nba short that he used and really a lot of people call him the greatest of all time so if it works for him it works for you save lies i call him dirty we got Jessica, Jessica, what is your superstition?

01:57:41 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 4:

Streetlights, especially if driving. If a streetlight goes out and I'm just now passing it, something's going to happen to my car. It's happened so many times. No. So if I see a wonky streetlight, I'm just maybe not going to look at that while I'm driving by. I've never heard that one before. Maybe avoid that. Maybe it's just my own luck.

01:58:01 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 3:

I got to watch out now. We got Laura. Laura's on the line. Laura, you feel like it's something to these numbers, huh?

01:58:09 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, definitely, you guys. Numbers are everywhere. And it's said that if you're thinking about something like, for example, like driving. I drive so much. Like, I'll see numbers, sequential numbers on a license plate, like 888-333-555. And if you look them up, they all have different meanings. Yes. 666 doesn't always mean bad things, though. Right. So don't always make sure that you're not always, you know, putting that with Satan. It's not just Satan. It can be good things too, but they correlate to the things that you're thinking about. And so if you're driving around and you're thinking about your financial situation and you see 888 pop up, that's supposed, I think that one's supposed to be like good fortune and stuff like that. So your thought process is like really guiding you and you're catching those numbers while you're seeing those things.

01:59:01 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 6:

Am I the only one who hears this and thinks, psychic mediums, horoscopes, these are all in the same vibe to me. They're all just made up.

01:59:13 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it could be something to it. I think the most powerful system in the world is the belief system. So whatever you choose to put energy support to believe.

01:59:21 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 6:

You believe numbers are talking to you. I didn't say that.

01:59:24 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 3:

I said belief system is the most powerful thing. So whatever you believe in is probably going to become your reality.

01:59:30 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 6:

You killed all those ladybugs. I believe you're crazy.

01:59:34 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So I went to lunch with a very hot lady the other day. Chelsea? No, it wasn't Chelsea. But I would love to tell you that this was more salacious than I went with one of our big bosses here, Shosh, who is... Oh, love her. What is their exact title that they have? It's like executive vice president of something. She's got a fancy one. I heard something, something.

01:59:59 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 6:

We got to show her.

02:00:00 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 1:

some respect. So, uh, so Shosh, uh, oversees like a bunch of radio stations. I think she's got like 80 plus, maybe a hundred radio stations around the country. And so she's like the boss of the bosses. And she has been like, it's, it's cool to see the growth of how, what I heart does with a lot of people here. Shosh came in as a sales rep here at the radio station, like right out of college and worked her way up, then became the head of the digital department, then went to Toledo, became boss of all the stations in Toledo, then moved to this big national role. And it's awesome. And she's like one of Bob Pittman's pride and joys, man. He loves her because she does a great job.

02:00:42 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 3:

She's a division president.

02:00:43 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 1:

Now let's talk about awkwardness. Okay. So division president, whatever that means. I think they need to have a better title than that one. I thought my title was better.

02:00:50 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

I agree.

02:00:50 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 1:

So we go out to lunch because she's working downtown here. You know, she's coming here while she's in town, not traveling in her markets. We go to San Morello's, which is the restaurant that's right there with the Shinola Hotel. And we walk in, and it's kind of cool as a guy that honestly never had girlfriends at all. Like, I only dated, I think, maybe two people before Chelsea and I ended up together. And I'm very blessed that I have a long-lasting, great relationship. But I'll be honest with you, man. I wish I had a list of girls that I dated over the years. A slew of them. I really do.

02:01:28 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 2:

And one of those two, let's be real, one of those is imaginary. The lovable stewardess is still imaginary. I never dated her. She does not exist.

02:01:36 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 3:

I have Googled her. She does not exist.

02:01:38 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 1:

I never dated Nancy. I went out on a date with Nancy.

02:01:42 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 3:

Nancy doesn't exist. Nancy is there.

02:01:44 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Imaginary. This is a long time. And Michael Jordan will one time come on the air with us and tell us that he remembers Nancy. So let me get back to my story here. You're rudely interrupting me right now with fake news. All right, so we walk into Shinola, and we walk in together, and I never know when you're sitting at a table that's meant for four how the seating arrangements go. So I usually try to wait for somebody to sit down first before I decide to sit. I always like to sit if I'm with, like I've gone on client calls before. One of the most infamous ones was I remember going out with Myrla Feldman from Feldman Automotive once, and people were calling Chelsea saying, hey, I saw Tom out with this very attractive brunette. Wow. And Chelsea knew that I was going out with Marla, so she was, like, talking to these people all the time, and Chelsea's friends with Marla, too. So, long story short, Shosh wasn't going to sit down anywhere. She was making me be the first one to sit down, which is awkward because I don't know where to put my stuff. Like, you know, I don't like, I had, you know, my phone and all the rest of it. I sit down, and I'm thinking, sure, she's going to sit across from me. She's not an across sitter. She's a sit-next-to-you sitter. And I was like, oh, my God, hold on a second. I've got to look around. People are going to think this is a war of the roses. Because when you sit next to somebody, it's a little bit more romantic, don't you think? I think it's way more intimate. Don't you think it's kind of an intimate thing?

02:03:08 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 3:

I could not disagree more. Oh, I do. But it comes from the perspective of I'm hard of hearing. So if I'm at a loud restaurant, I need you to sit next to me or I'm not going to be able to hear you. That to me is way less romantic than same-side booth sitters. Really? I hate you. See, that's me. I don't care. I know, and it grosses me out. Could you imagine? I don't care how in love you are. It is so weird to see people sitting on the same side of a booth.

02:03:33 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 2:

It's usually why I do it, though. I like being close to my husband, but also I can hear him way better.

02:03:37 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you something with the same-side booth thing, Megan? Same-side booth thing happened to me with a sales call. went on a sales call with angel back in the day like probably a week or so ago because we go on so many of these things but we were waiting for two clients to come and there were booths that they put us in i sit down at first in the booth and angel sits next to me i go you can't sit like that yeah you got to get up and go to the other side i because i don't want to be same side booth sitting until they come you know i mean it looks awkward right that's even more awkward it is one

02:04:07 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 3:

thing if you're walking in together and you're scooting into the same side of the booth but if you're sitting there before clients get there you got to stay on the other side until they get here

02:04:13 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 1:

it was it it's it's so interesting when you know you're not doing anything wrong to see that you feel like you're doing something wrong right so we're sitting there the whole time and i'm going oh my god this feels weird i'm like what is the etiquette like could i ask her to move to the other no we didn't get into a conversation she asked me some great questions listen she asked me a she asked me honestly one of the greatest questions she said to me she goes hey when you when you're not doing this anymore what would you want to be known for i was like holy crap and i was like this is deep i she was no she was okay i know she was like she was oprah and me

02:04:49 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 3:

she was trying to get me all emotional and stuff yeah can i guess your answer yeah was it dating a basketball cheerleader ah you're such a bad i forgot the bulls name so that was i'm gonna call her the b word right now on the radio oh it'll be the first time

02:05:04 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 5:

i'm gonna get away with it so if i know you then even when the waiter or waitress came over to take your order did you make it very clear that this was not your wife or girlfriend that this

02:05:14 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 3:

was a co-worker it was a female waitress she came over and i said hi my mistress here did you or did you joke about it no i didn't say anything at all like okay no and i and i'll tell you something like i uh i am a very awkward person like i awkwardly was kind of like looking around the whole time i was kind of like trying to figure out exactly if anybody was looking nobody was

02:05:40 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 5:

paying attention no nobody was caring so you think and then you get a dm well you know it's like saw

02:05:46 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 3:

you at blah blah blah well the weirdest was we walked through couldn't say hi was too nervous and then you're like oh crap i don't know where the front entrance of the uh the samarillos is So I always just walk into the Shinola Hotel. So that's awkward because you're walking through a hotel entrance going to the whole thing. Can I ask the listeners just a real quick question on this one? If you are going to lunch with a, you know, co-worker of your sexual preference. Yeah, I'll say that because it's not the opposite sex, right?

02:06:16 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 4:

How respectful.

02:06:17 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, thank you. I want the gays to call too.

02:06:20 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Come on, gays. Come through. Gays, call us.

02:06:22 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 3:

I'd like to know, like, what do you do? Like, what do you do in that case? So if you're going out with Tony, would you sit next to him? No. Or would you make, would you, like, what would you do if he sat next to you?

02:06:34 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 5:

That would actually be very uncomfortable for me. Yeah. And not that I'm even uncomfortable around Tony, but that, like, I just wouldn't naturally do that if I was going out with any of you guys. Right.

02:06:43 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

Bro, the only time you sit next to somebody is if y'all about to touch legs. Really? Or the bar. Or the bar. Or the bar. Or she about to grab your dick or something.

02:06:51 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 5:

To be honest with you, oh, my gosh. That's the only reason you sit next to somebody. And I am a bar sitter. If there is a place where there's a bar that you could eat at, I always opt for that over a table. And, Mojo, you're the same way. And I do feel like that can get slightly uncomfortable sometimes because even if you are, if it is just a coworker, if it is strictly platonic, there is something that just feels like it's more than that. I don't know why.

02:07:20 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 4:

So when Zach and I have gone to, like, bars and sat next to each other, I intentionally try to turn my chair, like, towards them. You know what I mean? So we're not sitting next to each other. We're facing each other.

02:07:29 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. Because the bar is, like, there's no other way to do it. You literally have to sit next to them. But if you're choosing to go table or booth, get your ass on the other side.

02:07:37 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes. 844-MOJO-LIVE, text 95500. Here's a texter here. It says, I work with nothing but women. And any time that I do go to lunch, it's me with three to four of them. Everybody thinks I'm the man. I love that, by the way. Where are you working at? Is that the one guy that works at Victoria's Secret? I always think if the one guy that works at Victoria's Secret has got to be gay, right? Or it's just very smart. It is? Caitlin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's up, Caitlin?

02:08:06 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 1:

So I'm a server, and I actually kind of make fun of same-side sitters a little bit because there's a whole other table to reach at. Yeah. Because then you get the couples that also reach across the table and hold hands. Oh, who would do that? I make fun of that all the time.

02:08:20 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I get it all the time. I make fun of it. Listen, Shannon saw her son barf yesterday. She's going to see the rest of us barf if she talks more about all this stuff. The public display of affection that she does in restaurants. I don't know where you work, Caitlin. Where do you work? What restaurants do you work at?

02:08:35 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Buffalo Wild Wings.

02:08:36 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Shannon's at Buffalo Wild Wings touching on to Wes the entire time with sticky hands.

02:08:42 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 4:

The epitome of romance. B-dubs.

02:08:44 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:08:45 - 02:08:46 | Unknown:

Exactly.

02:08:47 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the call, Caitlin. I appreciate you.

02:08:49 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 5:

A lot of greasy little fingers.

02:08:51 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:08:53 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mama. Dawn?

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes?

02:08:59 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Does your mom love you?

02:09:02 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

I hope so.

02:09:03 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you think she loves you enough that she won't hold it against you if she finds out that you just embarrassed her on the radio?

02:09:09 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 1:

We'll find out.

02:09:10 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mom. We're going to give you five completely fabricated lies. All you have to do is act them out, and we're going to see how your mom reacts to him.

02:09:19 - 02:09:20 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:09:20 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 3:

Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, my brother took me out for my birthday last night.

02:09:27 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:09:27 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 3:

What's your brother's name? Mark. Lie number two.

02:09:30 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 5:

Say, we met up with some of his friends at the bar. Oh, God. Okay.

02:09:35 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Lie number three. They ended up getting into a huge fight.

02:09:40 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Okay.

02:09:41 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 3:

Lie number four.

02:09:43 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 4:

The cops showed up and we all got arrested. Oh, she's going to be so mad. Okay.

02:09:49 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Lie number five. I need you to come bail us both out for $5,000. Oh, my God. So we are going to call your mom, and we're going to see what happens.

02:10:00 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 2:

what she says, okay?

02:10:02 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:10:03 - 02:10:03 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:10:09 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 2:

Speak up nice and loud. Everyone's listening.

02:10:13 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Hello? Hey, Mom. Hi. Oh, God. Please don't be mad at me. So, last night, Mark took me out for a late birthday. You can just sit your in jail. I'm sorry. I don't have that kind of money to bail you out. Mom, please don't leave me in here. It's not fair. I don't have the money to get you out. There's nothing you can do. Where do you think I'm going to get the money from? A money tree? You don't have anybody you can ask? I only get one phone call. I can't call anybody else. I don't know anybody that has that kind of s**t of money. Mom, please don't make me sit here. It's awful in here. Hi. What's that?

02:12:03 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

02:12:04 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm at the police station. Hello?

02:12:06 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 2:

Hi, is this Dawn's mom?

02:12:09 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:12:10 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 2:

How you doing?

02:12:12 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 3:

I thought I was doing okay today, but I don't know about now.

02:12:16 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 2:

This is Officer Steve McGarrett. I'm hanging out here with Dawn. And unfortunately, it sounds like you're not going to be bailing her out, which means that she's going to have to stay here for a while.

02:12:28 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think it would deserve her a lesson to do what she did. She should have thought about that before things got out of hand.

02:12:35 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Did she tell you everything that she did?

02:12:38 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 3:

That they, I guess her and my son, her brother went to a bar and there was a fight, I guess, that broke out and she's in jail.

02:12:48 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 2:

No, that wasn't all of it.

02:12:50 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

That's not all of it?

02:12:51 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:12:52 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:12:52 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 2:

She actually, when the police came and the police were ready to put handcuffs on her, she pulled her blouse up and showed her d*** to the police officers.

02:13:01 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 3:

She did what? Oh, my God. No way.

02:13:05 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:13:05 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 3:

No way.

02:13:07 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 2:

She pulled her blouse up and showed her d*** to the police officer.

02:13:14 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 3:

She deserves to sit in jail for doing that.

02:13:18 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what the police officer said?

02:13:22 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Sure, Tommy.

02:13:24 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 2:

I hope your mother has better d*** than that.

02:13:28 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'll kill her. She's not. No.

02:13:34 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

So my one question I have to ask you. Do you have better d*** than that?

02:13:43 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 3:

That hurt?

02:13:44 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:13:46 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, mine are bigger, but. shame on you

02:13:55 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 2:

hey mom this is the mojo in the morning show and Dawn just had you on five lies to tell your mom oh my word

02:14:09 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 3:

02:14:16 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Dawn just had you on with us so that you could win dinner on us for Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:14:24 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is funny. I love that you just didn't even care that she was in jail. Just sit in jail. You need to learn your lesson. Mom. Well, yeah. Shut up. Oh, s***.

02:14:40 - 02:14:42 | Unknown:

It's Mojo in the morning. Five to three.

02:14:42 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Five to five.

02:14:43 - 02:14:44 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:14:44 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:14:46 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Hey, if you're not following us on Instagram, check us out at Mojo in the Morning. Shout out to Bianca. She just posted a carousel of everyone on the show.

02:15:00 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 3:

because their smaller versions with the song that was their favorite around that time is absolutely hilarious. You guys, how big are my teeth? Just a little bit. I'm more amazed at how exactly Mojo looks like. They're like twins, bro. But speaking of kids, and I feel like I already know this next topic, which is mine, is May going to the direction of Kev being an a-hole, which I'm totally okay with, even though I don't fully agree with that. But there is something that happens inside of me around this season when parents who you work with send out emails letting you know that it is time to purchase their children's Girl Scout cookies or those damn pizza kits from whatever company. And I am not the person that is going to sign up to buy your child's cookies babies or their pizza kids now you may say kevin it's for the kids do it for the kids and i'm not gonna say after the babies i'm not gonna go that far but after cookies i feel like it's so much pressure it is and by the way i don't know if you're doing this topic

02:16:15 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 2:

because i'm actually passing out all the cookies next week that i have to go pick up that lucy sold i i really truly and i mean this do not care whether you order cookies or not Now, I will say, Mojo, who is not here to defend himself, nor does he need to, but because he has ordered so many boxes of cookies from Lucy every single year since she started, it got to be, like, the last couple of days this year, and he still hadn't ordered, and I'll be damned, she sent him a voice note and was like, Mojo, where's your cookie order? Because he normally orders 20 boxes of cookies.

02:16:49 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 1:

We need that Rihanna song, Bitch Better Have My Money.

02:16:52 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 2:

For sure. I should find the voice memo. She was like, oh, I heard you got a bonus at work. The cookies are on sale. Lucy is a boss. It was so funny. But I really, really, I get it from your perspective of it's daunting, especially when the kids come through with the sheets themselves, which they don't really do now for Girl Scout cookies. Forget the sheets. You have to do it online.

02:17:14 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 3:

Sharron's daughter was in here yesterday with the whole outfit on. Yeah, I saw.

02:17:18 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 1:

I find that easier. I'd rather fill out the sheet in the moment than you text me and be like, oh, yeah, I'll get to it in a minute because I'm in the middle of something. And then I completely forget about it.

02:17:27 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. What side of the aisle do you stand on with this? Are you like pro bring your sheet to work? Make every not make everybody, but make it available for people to sign up for your Girl Scout cookies. Or are you like me? We're just listen. Don't don't even look in my direction. I'm not buying it. Because I also feel like it's, I don't want you to think that I hate your child. But I do.

02:17:53 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 2:

But the reason I say it doesn't bother, there's always something. If it, like, Lucy had the Girl Scout cookies. Smith had this kid's heart challenge. There's always something. And so even though I have two children that I, that this applies to, I'm not buying the pizza. I'm not buying the chocolate bars. But if you have, I think it's the Boy Scouts around me that sell. Somebody sells wreaths and greenery. I'm always down for that. There's certain things I'm always down for. I will always buy.

02:18:22 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 3:

And some things, I won't. You are not buying wreaths.

02:18:25 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I do every year. They sell wreaths? Wreaths, and then they sell the greenery. The garland. What am I talking about? Garland. Yes.

02:18:33 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

I buy that every year. I'm this kid in my neighborhood. I do feel like somebody might be going to Home Depot, getting a good deal. Oh, guess what? It is cheap, and I buy it every year.

02:18:43 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 2:

So keep it coming.

02:18:45 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 3:

You're so dumb. I can't believe we're not getting no calls on this, man. I can't be the only person out here who is not a fan of Girl Scout cookies and bringing those into the office.

02:18:54 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 2:

You know who I wonder if Colleen, our boss, feels pressure to buy from everybody that brings that stuff in?

02:19:02 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 1:

If you are the big boss, I assume you're going to support everybody. You got the money.

02:19:06 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 3:

I feel like that's politics, too, I feel like. If you big boss style, then it's kind of like, yeah, let me just throw a bone out for the kids one time. You know what I mean? That kind of come with the job description. But I respect you if you don't, though. Because I'm not going to eat the cookies. I'm damn sure I'm about to make those pizza kits.

02:19:24 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 2:

They're just going to stay in the freezer. You can donate the cookies to the troops. You can order boxes and they can go right to the troops.

02:19:31 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. So you don't even get them. Wow. Yeah, you really have no excuse not to participate.

02:19:37 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 2:

They'll take Square. They'll take your money however you want to give it to them. Girl Scout.

02:19:44 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 1:

so there's really no excuse. Why don't you just do a drive-by of, like, throwing change at some little girls and be like, give me the cookies!

02:19:51 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

I saved that for Santa Claus. We got Mel on the line. Mel, how do you feel about this? I have noticed...

02:20:00 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 2:

that, you know, I usually buy them every year because they're at the grocery store when you walk in and stuff like that. So you do feel the pressure, but it seems that you get less now.

02:20:12 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 6:

Duh, and they're more expensive. The price went up, but you get less. They did. Now, to defend anybody who is part of a Girl Scout troop, they do amazing things with the money that they raise from the cookies. For sure. Luce has been able to attend some great camps and just experiences and do things for people in the community. So it all does go to a good cause. But you're right. The boxes are getting smaller. The cookies aren't as good as I remember when I was little.

02:20:35 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 5:

But there's a reason why they don't just sell the cookies on store shelves and then say, hey, the money is going to the Girl Scouts. It's because it's overpriced for a few cookies and you can't say no to a child. It is all manipulative. And then they give me every time.

02:20:49 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thank you. Yeah. We might have somebody with a different opinion, though. Someone with a different thought. Christina, what say you?

02:20:58 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 3:

hi i was calling my daughter actually sells girl scout cookies and i agree with kevin and i would rather somebody just be like no thank you i don't want to buy cookies then be like oh maybe maybe

02:21:11 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 6:

later yeah it doesn't hurt my feelings i i'm grateful for the people that do and if you don't it's not like i'm shooting daggers at you every time i walk past your desk at work it's one of those heartstrings yeah but you're putting that on yourself is what i'm saying that's if there's I mean, I don't know if Sharon, whose daughter was in here yesterday, you know, voodooed you when she got home because you didn't buy any cookies, but you'd have to ask her. I really don't care.

02:21:39 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, it wasn't Sharon. I think it's more so like when you bring in the list and then everybody else is buying cookies and I'm just kind of sitting over here like, yeah, that ain't going to be me. Amanda, how do you feel about this? Amanda, you there?

02:21:56 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 4:

hi good morning hey good morning amanda hi i i think i'm one of those people that intentionally avoid eye contact when i see a girl scout booth and why do they do it towards the beginning of the year when people make like fitness goals it's just it's a whole guilt trip i've never

02:22:14 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 5:

understood that they do it at different times around the country oh they do so we get it in january yeah so it's sold for the month of january yeah so ohio has a different one than michigan

02:22:23 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 6:

does. Oh, okay.

02:22:25 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 5:

So it's like, you just got unfortunate.

02:22:27 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 6:

And by the way, you can order cookies from the Girl Scout website

02:22:31 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 2:

year-round. Yeah. I'm gonna just give loose $20, bruh. Let's just throw loose the money. You know what I mean? We don't need the cookies. We ain't got to, we can be under the table. It's gonna go right to Sephora. Just keep your money. That's what I'm saying. Just tell me that. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the

02:22:47 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 6:

30. Last dirty of the day, Shannon. Yeah. Let's go. Yesterday, big news for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. He was found not guilty of felony assault charges from that incident a couple of years ago in which he was accused of shooting at a former friend and collaborator, A$AP Relly, in Hollywood during some sort of confrontation that was being had. Cheers, literal cheers, broke out in the courtroom after the verdict was read. You'll hear that in just a second. He rushed into Rihanna's arms, his entire family truly in the courtroom.

02:23:17 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 1:

and i really want to thank the jury for making the right decision you know and i'm just so thankful this is crazy right now this whole experience has been crazy for the past four years but i'm thankful nonetheless i'm thankful and we're blessed to be here right now to be a

02:23:33 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 6:

Zach Bryan hanging out at a bar in the West Village, walks in, gets invited to play pool with a bunch of guys who were already there hanging out. And right when he walks in, he noticed that one of the guys was wearing Ray-Ban Meta glasses. They have a conversation about this. He's asking about the glasses. Fast forward to I don't even know how much later in the evening, but all of a sudden, Zach takes issue with the fact that he is being recorded by the glasses and drops the these are so gay or something of that nature. Just listen. They're my buddy's glasses. No, no, dude, no. Those are lame.

02:25:00 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 1:

02:25:37 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

Why is that gay? If you see Zach Bryan trending today, it is not for a good reason. It's for that. For all of today's dirty catch up on the podcast, on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:25:50 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. I say this with all the love in the world. You laugh. but Shannon, why did you get that goddamn dog? I knew this was going to come back. I actually should go back to the tape when you said, I got a puppy.

02:26:07 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, I love this puppy so much. He is so cute. So Bo is just about, he's just over a year old. He just turned one, and he's a Cavapuchon. These, like, fancy dog names are so crazy. He's so cute. He looks like a teddy bear, but, oh, my God, he is naughty. And last night, I thought I was going to have to sell him. Now, I say that jokingly.

02:26:29 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 2:

Sell him. You may have to pay somebody. But I wanted to.

02:26:33 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 3:

So Lucy, my fifth grader, has her very last Girl Scout camp of elementary school this Saturday, which mom has a lot of emotions about. I'll be with her all day on Saturday. So we've been preparing for it all week. And if you are a Girl Scout parent or you are a former Girl Scout, you probably remember this. One of the activities that the girls traditionally do at camp is they trade something called swaps. And they're basically these little like crafty things that you have to make. And you have to make a ton of them because you have to make enough for like all of the girls at camp. And then during the day you trade them and then everybody pins them to their lanyard. These things take a lot of time, depending on what you choose to do. So we've been working on Lucy since Sunday, okay? So last night, everybody was home, but we were all doing something. Lucy was on a Zoom session with her therapist. Smith was taking a shower after his swim class. Wes and I were downloading the day. So I walk into our kitchen after Wes and I are done talking, and I see little bits and pieces, hundreds and hundreds of them, of Lucy's Girl Scout swaps.

02:27:49 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, Shane.

02:27:50 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 3:

All over the floor, all over the kitchen, all over the living room. Like, it was like confetti out of what we have been working on for the past four days. I wanted to cry. And I looked at that dog who got groomed yesterday. And yes, he looks exceptionally cute. I wanted.

02:28:10 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 2:

He's an a-hole.

02:28:11 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to be like, just go run away. What did Lucy do?

02:28:14 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 2:

Did Lucy just go nuts?

02:28:16 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Cryed, bro. Probably. Oh, well, I wanted to cry because it's just as much work for me as it is for her. We work on these things together. So, yeah, we're starting over tonight.

02:28:29 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 2:

I remember telling you when this thing came into your life. What the hell were you thinking? You were getting married. You were blending families. You were adding people to this home already that you would even tell us. We don't have enough rooms for the people that are adding to the home. Why are you adding animals?

02:28:47 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Yep, yep. How much is that dog in the window?

02:28:51 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I tried to get my dog to eat homework, and she wouldn't do it. I used to say my dog ate homework, and I never had a dog.

02:28:59 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 3:

This isn't even like homework, Kev, because that's a sheet or two of paper. I'm not joking when I say this. It was like, oh, my God. You put blood swears into this.

02:29:10 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 2:

Poor Lucy. I'm not even going to say poor you because you knew what you were getting yourself into. Lucy didn't. She's an innocent bystander.

02:29:16 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

You want to know what's so crazy, too, is she, and I always say to the kids, if you don't want the dogs to get at it, make sure you put it in something and somewhere where they can't go because Bo, he thinks he's human, and he likes to sit at our dining room table. Like, he just sits in a chair. Wait, hold on. He sits?

02:29:31 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 2:

Stop the music. I swear to God he does. He sits at the dining room table, like sits in a chair at the dining room table.

02:29:36 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 3:

All the time. Perched at like a camera. Oh, my God. Last night, he took that to a whole new level and got on the dining room table because that's where Lucy had very responsibly put all this stuff in like big Ziploc bags until she, you know, she could finish it. And like, this is him every single night. Oh, my God. Look at him. He sits.

02:29:55 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 2:

He's literally sitting there.

02:29:56 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 3:

He's like, he thinks he's human. He does look cute.

02:29:58 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:29:58 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548 what did your GD dog eat? What did your what was the thing? And when I want to know not only what did your dog eat but how close to the Girl Scout event did it happen? Because usually that's when it happens is when you're actually working on it

02:30:16 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 4:

02:30:23 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is our telephone number and I will tell you that you know yeah i get it they're dogs you know i mean i have to think about this all the time they don't know better even though we all think that our dogs are the smartest dogs in the world they're just dumb dogs i hate to say it no offense to anybody who's a dog that's listening to the show but they're dumb dogs they anybody that goes oh my god my dog crapped on the floor yeah i'd crap on the floor too i'd be a dog sometimes it's like these dogs know what they're

02:30:55 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was a great picture. We have a puppy sitter, and I'm a school teacher. And I got a great picture of it when I was on my lunch break, and it was fabulous.

02:31:39 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wait, so the puppy sitter was there and didn't stop the dog from eating the carpet?

02:31:44 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. Our puppy sitter, he just comes and, like, lets him out during the day. Oh, God. He only lets a couple doors down.

02:31:49 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 2:

By the way, call our buddy Joey over at the Carpet Guys. He'll help you out, okay?

02:31:54 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 4:

He's fast. He really is.

02:31:55 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. I'm sure my landlord would like that, but now our security deposit's all messed up, too. I was like, oh, my God.

02:32:00 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 2:

There it goes. Out the window. Thanks for calling. What's up? Is this LaDonna?

02:32:05 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:32:06 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:32:06 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. Yes.

02:32:08 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 2:

LaDonna on the phone. Two in a row.

02:32:12 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Your turn. So, my dog ate my whole couch. Oh, Jesus. The whole thing. The whole couch? The whole couch. We came home. She was there for, we had her for two weeks. And when we came home, she ate the whole couch.

02:32:24 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how big is your dog if it's eating a couch?

02:32:27 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 3:

It's a German Shepherd.

02:32:28 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. Wait, what does a couch look like getting pooped out by a German Shepherd?

02:32:35 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 3:

She scratched the arms. Like, the whole thing was just tore apart. She was there. We left her out because we're like, we're not going to crater. We're going to see how she does. came home from work on lunch break and she scratched at the whole thing. The cushions were everywhere. There was foam everywhere. It was just destroyed.

02:32:54 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 2:

That'd be the last day that I had a German Shepherd. What's up, Maggie? Hi.

02:32:58 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning, you guys.

02:32:59 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. We're talking about Shannon's dog, Bo. What's your name of your dog?

02:33:05 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 6:

Her name was Arella and she came to our wedding on Mackinac Island and after the wedding, you know how you get to keep the top layer Of your wedding cake Somebody brought it to our room To help us unload and stuff like that And it was just at the right level Where she was able to get it And we came back to the room after going out to the bar And there was just crumbs Everywhere

02:33:28 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god The people that have their dogs in their weddings Are cute They don't ever show you the video Of the post wedding when the dog is a little bit too crazy. What's going on, Andrea? This is a good one. Andrea, what did your dog eat?

02:33:48 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 5:

Our dog ate a box of condoms while we were out one night. And we came home and found the box and all the cardboard and wrappers and everything shredded all over the floor. And so then it kind of, like, turned into, like, how many were in that box and how many did he actually eat? and, like, trying to figure out.

02:34:11 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 2:

I can only imagine you having to pull it right out of its butthole when it's starting to come out with that little balloon.

02:34:17 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 5:

We called the vet, and they told us to give him peroxide to make him throw them off.

02:34:21 - 02:34:22 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:34:22 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 5:

So then my husband was in the yard, like, literally picking through the dog's bark. Yes. He had told me how many condoms he had thrown up. Oh, no.

02:34:30 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Thank God they weren't used condoms, because that would be even grosser. But Lexi, this is a wild one. your dog is definitely alert after this what did your dog eat he ate my bottle of adderall

02:34:42 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 4:

i almost died so it was mother's day last year and i heard my husband leave with my three kids and i was like okay cool i stay asleep and then about like an hour later i get out of bed to go let the dog out of his crate and my bottle was like my shelf above his Thank you.

02:35:00 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 2:

crate had fallen, I guess, and the bottle was in his crate, and the bottle was, like, eating up and everything, and I saw vomit, I was freaking out, crying, but then he was fine.

02:35:10 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was wide awake forever. He probably, what did he do, clean the entire house afterwards?

02:35:14 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 2:

He's a healer, so he's so hyper. This dog was laying on my back deck watching the grass. I was like, oh my God. I was like, he needs Adderall every day. it's time for more mojo back to mojo in the morning mojo on the morning show phone numbers

02:35:34 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 1:

uh 844 mojo live the text is 95500 i have a quick question for you and it involves yes our favorite topic pooping do d what is the etiquette surrounding going number two in someone else's house i've got a personal story with this i'm going to share with you and then i want to know your thoughts are guys i had to go so bad it felt like a gluten duty anybody has a gluten allergy it's the worst megan i can sense it first off i get arthritic hands like my hands tighten up on me first when i realize that i've been infected so that's like your warning sign to prepare yourself yeah which i know that you you got a million allergies you probably get warning signs don't you when you know oh god i got an epi pen i gotta get oh for sure

02:36:27 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah when the hives start on the insides of my cheeks i know it's not gonna be good it's the worst that's my face cheeks not my butt cheeks

02:36:34 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 1:

i wouldn't see those i like like if they were on the butt cheeks um for those that don't know when you have a gluten you know intolerance issue and then you get gluten in your diet and you have to go to the bathroom those bathroom breaks are very smelly so what do you do uh like this happened we went to a friend's house to eat and uh i was going to the bathroom and first off first and foremost i go in and i know it's gonna also be a noisy one So I run the hot and cold water. I got, like, the water blasting. Actually, it was one of those bathrooms, too, that has a tub attached to it. Like, there's a tub shower there. And I'm like, God, should I just turn the shower on, too?

02:37:23 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Make it even more obvious.

02:37:25 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, I figured make it all steamy and stuff, because if you make it steamy, sometimes it gets rid of the smell. Then I cranked up the...

02:37:33 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 3:

Just so you know, it's the opposite. Don't do that.

02:37:36 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:37:36 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it absorbs and keeps that smell in there.

02:37:39 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that.

02:37:40 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:37:41 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 1:

God, thank you for telling me. Well, I had the fan on. They had one of those fans that was like, and you know, like their overhead one, like it sounded like it needed to be cleaned or something. It was so bad. What I ended up doing was I looked underneath their counter and they had soaps and all kinds of things down there. She had like deodorants and things like that. I'm spraying everything in this place. It was crazy.

02:38:09 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Can I be honest, though? Yeah. Oh, excuse me.

02:38:14 - 02:38:14 | Unknown:

How many?

02:38:15 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 4:

That's not on you. They're bad hosts. Why? I think that if you have people over, it's your responsibility to make sure everybody's comfortable in every situation. And I don't mean to brag, but I actually think that I am really the perfect place to poop if you're not at home. because when you get set up, I have like an echo dot in my bathroom and I'm blaring music in there the whole time you're over, whether you have to use the bathroom or not, just so it's not awkward that you need to turn it on. It's already playing. There's a candle lit before you come over so it smells good in there and you leave the fan on before they come over so they never have to switch it. It's just ready to go. That sounds perfect. And you have pooperie or something, don't you? I have room spray in there. I want everybody because like you, Mojo, I have stomach issues. Mine are a little bit different, but I understand that embarrassment. That's not the person hosting. Well, let me tell you something.

02:39:11 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't have any of those things except the candle. I do have a candle in my bathroom always burning because I don't want you to poop in my bathroom. That is terrible. I take everything out except for the toilet and toilet paper.

02:39:23 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Do you really?

02:39:24 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't have any. I really don't have it. You know how weird I am about people pooping.

02:39:29 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 1:

Can I go back to the poopery? I think that just smells like bad scent over bad poop. I agree with you.

02:39:38 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it does anything.

02:39:40 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 1:

What do they say? It's like putting lipstick on a pig. It's basically like putting perfume on a poop. Exactly. Easton, what's going on, Easton? It's Mojo in the morning show. How are you?

02:39:52 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey, Easton on the phone. Um, so I

02:40:00 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 3:

actually monday night i had some buddies over and um one of them had to poop so bad that i just kept saying no and he kept asking me he finally just left my house went all the way home drove like 20 minutes home and then came all the way back like i forced him to drive home why why didn't you let him poop in the crib because it's my house like i don't want him pooping in my bathroom

02:40:26 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 5:

You're evil.

02:40:27 - 02:40:28 | Unknown:

It's evil.

02:40:28 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 5:

You want people to be uncomfortable, in pain, and not around you. You're evil.

02:40:35 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 3:

I would rather him not stink up my bathroom while he's over.

02:40:38 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 5:

I wish you nothing but red lights.

02:40:41 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 3:

That's rude.

02:40:42 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 5:

It's rude you don't let people use your bathroom.

02:40:45 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, real quick. How long of a drive are we talking? Like, if it's like, you know, two minutes or so. It was like 15 minutes for him. No, that's a long one. You get caught by some lights You know You have issues Getting in and out of your house Especially with inclement weather I mean you don't want inclement weather

02:41:07 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 3:

The roads were pretty bad And I made him drive home

02:41:11 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 2:

What a guy What a friend Thanks for the call Hold on a second here I never thought I'd see this on a call screen board Shauna what's up What did you want to say

02:41:24 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Hi, friend. I want to poop at Megan's house. You're more than welcome. So my kid got suspended from school in first grade because he went to poop upstairs because the downstairs bathrooms were all nasty and gross and smelly.

02:41:40 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Wait. So the upstairs bathrooms were cleaner?

02:41:44 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But the downstairs bathrooms, because they were like for kindergartners, they were all pissy and poopy and gross. Oh.

02:41:52 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, kids pee on the ground and everything. I saw something yesterday. I actually went to a public place. I went to pick up a carry-out order at this new restaurant, and they had underneath the urinal something I'm going to buy for us. It was basically like a shower mat that collects all the pee that might not go. You know how we always – I have an issue getting it in the urinal. I liked it because it was basically an exorbitant thing that is a little carpet thing.

02:42:20 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 4:

Why is it that you guys can't aim into that big hole? I think Smith looks around. It's like he wants to make a painting on the wall. But it goes everywhere but the huge hole that you're supposed to get it in.

02:42:37 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 5:

I think there should be a new law. A law. And full jail time. No warning, no fines. Full jail time if you don't sit down to pee as a dude. Sit down to pee. I am sick of all of you. Y'all are nasty.

02:42:50 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 2:

I like to sit down to pee, but a lot of people say that if they have large penises, they can't do that. That's great. It's hard to fold them.

02:42:56 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm also an equal opportunity rulemaker. So women who hover and don't sit, jail time. Both of you. Guys who don't sit down, women who hover, jail.

02:43:05 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right. I like that. That's a good law. Annette, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. I love the word blowout on your call screen. What's going on?

02:43:18 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 6:

hi no not a blowout no no no i was calling because if you light a match and blow it out i guess yeah that's a blowout and blow out the match it absorbs the sulfur from the match absorbs

02:43:31 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 4:

all the poopy that is true that does help a ton who brings matches i have a box of matches in my

02:43:37 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 6:

bathroom yeah box of matches on the back of the toilet okay i'm gonna carry around like and you're

02:43:43 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

talking like the wooden matches right the stick matches yeah no it could be any match it can be

02:43:47 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 6:

candy match it can be a pack of matches that you get from the gas station or hotel i gotta get some

02:43:51 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 2:

matches i'm gonna i'm gonna try that and thank you so much uh when she when it said blowout i just read blowout i thought annette had a blowout i was like any woman that will admit to a blowout is a woman for me what's up britney how you doing you have advice for me on guest pooping

02:44:07 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

hi how you doing britney what's going on so i had gastric bypass and if you spray the toilet

02:44:16 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 5:

it before you use the restroom it actually helps mask the smell with the poopery yeah yeah it's always shocking to me when um shannon and mojo say it it doesn't work i feel like they're not

02:44:26 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 4:

using it properly you put it in the spray it in the bowl before you go yeah oh see i still think

02:44:30 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 2:

it smells like poopery and poop oh i've done it differently i i have you you guys taught me something i always spray it after the fact no you got to spray it before you go oh okay somebody They made it stinky. And courtesy flushes, right? You got to do a courtesy flush right away or what? Depends on the toilet. I don't know.

02:44:49 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 5:

Your relationship.

02:44:50 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 2:

If you got some floaters in there, then. Did you say relationship or did you put a T at the end?

02:44:56 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 5:

No, definitely a P.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

What's up?

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 3:

going on sean sean's a manager of a jimmy john's and wants to call out a customer what's up sean

02:45:05 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 5:

how you doing good how are you good what's going on oh i was a manager at jimmy john's and we would have people come in and use the bathroom and uh there was a person that went in there and there was poop all over the wall the ceiling all over the place and that's where the ceilings

02:45:24 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 3:

How is it? How is it that somebody can miss that bad that it hits the ceiling? They didn't miss. He drew. That was on purpose. That's hysterical. Picasso, I like it. Hold on, Mario. This is a great one. Mario, you cannot poop at your girl's house. What do you do?

02:45:51 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 4:

well this was a new girl that i had i've only been to her place like one other time at this point in time but i was on my way to her place and this is probably my second time over to her place but i was on my way when i started to get the bubble guts and i'm thinking to myself i'm gonna go doo-doo bathroom and have her think like less of me if she like If I sync up her bathroom, that's a no-no. So I went to the gas station just right down the road from her. Thank goodness that they had a public restroom.

02:46:30 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I love it. The gas station that probably has like a hubcap attached to the key. I always love when you go to the gas stations and you have to use the bathroom and they give you the key, and the key's got like a two-by-four or something attached to the thing. I think you're smart, by the way, Mario, because I don't think early in a relationship a girl wants to know that there's a guy that's blowing out her restroom, you know? That's not a good idea. You'll never get anything from her.

02:46:58 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 4:

One thing if it's like a year into the relationship, but no, this is like less than a month.

02:47:04 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 1:

A year feels like a long time. That feels like no pasta dinners on any dates.

02:47:10 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's the worst. Man, that's a bad one. And you've got to hope that they've got a good gas station close to their house when they're doing this. All right, well, thank you so much. And Leslie and Steve, I apologize for your bathroom and the remnants of it. There's nothing worse, by the way, than that happening and having the bathroom be right there where you guys are all sitting. Like, you know, who designs a house like that? Yeah. Oh, jeez. Mojo in the Morning has your shot at $1,000 now. Pay Your Bills is on.

02:47:44 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Pay Your Bills is on. Your shot at $1,000. Enter the cash keyword, pay. Very simple. P-A-Y. Enter that keyword at mojointhemorning.com for your chance at $1,000.

02:48:00 - 02:48:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. So I had a moment yesterday. I, until we moved in the studio, had never heard of a store that Fritz, who, you know, set up our cameras. So Fritz told me about a store that I had never been to ever in my life. Anytime I needed anything, I would always go to either Best Buy or I'd go to the Apple store and I'd go buy something. But he was telling me about a store that is in Madison Heights, is one of their stores. It's called, what, Micro Center? Is that what it's called? Exactly. Oh, I see it on the highway. Okay. So I went to Micro Center. Now, this has nothing to do with Micro Center. This has to do with a guy that works Micro Center. So I went in there yesterday to go find a piece that would work in our control board here because I needed something to work our show that we used to have in the old studio that is not compatible, I guess. I walk inside. There's a lot of nice people there. The one guy that helped me out had to be the guy that calls me chief.

02:48:57 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God.

02:48:59 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if there are any people out there that are listening that like to be called chief. But the moment that I walked in, it was, hey, chief, what's going on, chief? What's happening, chief? And I'm looking around going, who is he talking to? And I'm like, I think he's talking to me. I think I'm chief. I think I'm the chief. So I go, oh, hey, I'm, you know, looking for, you know, a USB lightning to lightning. I'm asking him the question about this thing. And he's like, well, chief, come on over here, chief. And he like shows me around. And I'm like going, I don't know what this guy thinks I am. I'm like, I don't know, come here off the reservation or something like that. Like, what is this guy doing? Why is he calling me chief?

02:49:41 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:49:42 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 3:

And it got me thinking about things that people call you. And I don't, there are certain things that I've been called before that I've complained about. I hate when people call me big guy.

02:49:53 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hey, big guy. No offense.

02:49:56 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

I have been at gas stations before and I've had the.

02:50:00 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 4:

guy you know when i'm putting money on a pump go what pump big guy and i'm thinking to myself basically you calling me big guy is like calling me out and telling me that i'm a big fatty or

02:50:11 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 7:

something do you think it's that or do you think it's you're genuinely so tall i don't think our listeners might realize how tall you are i don't know how tall are you you're like what six six i'm like no big guy's not six six i don't know after like six one you're just six to me

02:50:27 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm like, you talking about Chief over here?

02:50:31 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 7:

I've dated a big guy before, and he genuinely was 6'6".

02:50:33 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 4:

I would have put hard money on the fact that you were at least 6'5". If I were 6'6", I'd be playing for the Pistons. There's no way. You're so tall.

02:50:41 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 5:

I can tell you this, though. I absolutely hate it. I hate it when white dudes especially, the only person in the world that does this is white men. They call you brother. Like Hulk Hogan? Like, bro, they'd be like, hey, what's going on, brother? Hey, hey, brother. Like, they don't meet you. Like, hey, brother. That is the most annoying thing in the entire world.

02:51:03 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 4:

Do they only call you brother? Because I've had Dom Theater, our old boss, used to call me brother all the time.

02:51:09 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 6:

I feel like Wes calls everybody brother. He calls my brother brother. Everybody.

02:51:14 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 5:

It sounds weird. It sounds forced. It sounds, just don't do that.

02:51:18 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 6:

I hate, and I know it is appropriate, unfortunately. I hate ma'am, and I hate lady. I know. Call me miss. And the kids know, like, we were at Nordstrom the other day. I was meeting her. Oh, man. Hate, hate, hate, hate. I was in that turn line, and the, as I just say it, but the woman who was working at Nordstrom was trying to point me out to somebody else, and she's like, it's this lady right here. And Lucy goes, ah.

02:51:40 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 5:

Lady. Here we go.

02:51:42 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 6:

Okay. I hate it.

02:51:43 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 7:

I use one all the time, and I'm afraid it offends people, but I cannot take it out of my lexicon at this point. Love. Thank you, love. Love. Hey, love.

02:51:53 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 4:

You do that. Thank you, love.

02:51:54 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 6:

I don't mind that at all, though. People don't like that.

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 4:

I always feel like when you're doing it, it's like going, you are such a dumb mother effer. That's why you're calling us that.

02:52:01 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 7:

No, because I hate sweetie or sweetheart. I think, well, or hun. I feel like if there's a certain connotation behind it, it can be very endearing and very loving. But usually it's used in a mean way. Like, okay, sweetie. But you never go, okay, love.

02:52:16 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Miranda? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

02:52:19 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. How you doing?

02:52:21 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 4:

We're doing fantastic. Wow, your phone line sounds so clean. What's going on?

02:52:25 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, awesome. I just got a new phone, so maybe that's it. My ex-boyfriend actually used to call everyone boss. Oh, that's another one.

02:52:34 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 4:

I hate that. What up, boss?

02:52:36 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 1:

He'd be like, hey, boss. And I'm like, can you please stop that? And that's probably why we're not together anymore because it was just so cringe. It's annoying.

02:52:43 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 4:

A lot of the Chaldea homies used that. Hey, what's up, boss? Hey, boss. The other one, too, is champ. You ever heard anybody call you champ? Who says he? Hey, champ. I've heard that. What's going on, Ed? How you doing? I'm not on T-Ball anymore. Hey, I'm good, Mojo.

02:52:56 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 2:

How about you? I'm pretty good, Chief. What's up? See, that's it. When people call me Chief, I call him Squaw. What is that? Because I don't like it either. That's the Indian wife. It's probably not politically correct either.

02:53:11 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 4:

I did not know that. Oh, no, that's funny. Oh, man. By the way, when people do this and they do it, they don't realize they're doing it. Like, I don't think he realized that he was calling me that.

02:53:24 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:53:25 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 4:

And actually, the guy was really nice because they couldn't find the piece that I was looking for. And he said, hey, maybe you might need to go over to, you know, to this place for the whole time. I'm like going. I was, after a while, I was like, I don't even remember what I came in here for. I have no clue. Karen, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. You probably hate when people call her Karen. Hi.

02:53:45 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm a first time long time. Hey. Hi.

02:53:48 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 4:

Karen's wonderful. What's up?

02:53:52 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 3:

Man, I'm Chaldean. I hate when Chaldean men say cuz. Cuz, yeah. Like, oh, like, what up, cuz? Like, I'm not your cousin. Like, don't call me cuz. No, no, you might be.

02:54:06 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 4:

You might. If you're Chaldean, you might be. Actually, you may be careful about that sometimes, too. What's going on, Paul? How you doing?

02:54:14 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing good. How are you, Bojo?

02:54:16 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 4:

I'm doing okay, buddy.

02:54:17 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 2:

First time, short time. Oh, hey, boy. what's up i don't like when they call me dude dude i think i do that i do that a lot yeah you

02:54:29 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 4:

don't like megan always goes my dude what's up my dude yeah i don't mind dude as much as these other ones these other ones kind of uh i don't know i always feel like it's uh whenever you're calling somebody that stuff, it always feels like you're saying, you know, I don't care about you

02:54:50 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 7:

or I don't like you or whatever the deal is. I think Zach and I have had full conversations just saying dude differently. Really? Like, dude, dude.

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm a dude. I love dude.

02:55:01 - 02:55:03 | Speaker 1:

Joe, what's up?

02:55:03 - 02:55:04 | Unknown:

I'm a dude.

02:55:04 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, good morning. How you doing, buddy? I'm good. I was calling in Bigfella to your comment list and I'm being called. Bigfella. Big guy, Bigfella, Biggie. What's up? The Notorious B.I.G. Somebody said, what's up, Biggie? And I had somebody call me the Notorious B.I.G. once. I'm like going, I am not. What's up, Biggie? That's crazy. Seriously. And Kev's right on this deal. It's always white guys. White guys are the idiots that do these things for some reason. I don't know what it is. That brother stuff. I'm not with it, bro. This is the home of Mojo in the Morning. The world famous Channel 955. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. It is time now for the second date update on the Mojo in the Morning show. Why are you not getting a call back? We're going to find out. so Sean is trying to figure out why you're not getting a call back hey Sean yeah hey what's

02:56:06 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 3:

going on good morning why would anybody ghost you Sean I don't know man I'm trying to figure

02:56:12 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 1:

that out myself actually first off how did you guys meet and how many times have you guys been together have you guys been out with each other well we met on tinder and uh you know we connected

02:56:25 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 3:

And then we went out a few times, so it wasn't just like a one-time thing.

02:56:30 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 1:

So you've had multiple dates, but now you're not getting calls back. And are you texting a bunch and trying to see what you can do? Like, what was the last text that you sent?

02:56:43 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 3:

The last text I sent was, hey, is everything okay? Because I hadn't heard from her in a minute.

02:56:49 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 1:

And what was the reply? Nothing. Crickets.

02:56:53 - 02:56:53 | Unknown:

Crickets.

02:56:53 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 1:

All right. We're going to find out what's going on. We got Jasmine on the phone with us right now. Jasmine, you're cool with being on the radio with us. We appreciate that. Will you say hello to Sean?

02:57:04 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 2:

Hello. Yeah. Hey, what's up, Jamie? Yeah. Hi. How are you?

02:57:11 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm good. I'm trying to see how you are. Like, what's going on with you?

02:57:19 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 2:

I'm great. Thanks.

02:57:21 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 1:

Jasmine, has it just been a busy time for you? Or have you been getting Sean's calls? And did you get his last text?

02:57:32 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah, but I've been busy. Yeah, sure.

02:57:41 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 3:

You couldn't say you were busy? I mean, you could have responded and said, hey, I'm busy.

02:57:45 - 02:57:46 | Unknown:

True.

02:57:47 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I thought you got the hair. I really didn't know how to, like, say it and say anything. Like, so, I just.

02:57:57 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

Why did you want to send a hint? What was it that made you not, or makes you not want to hang out with Sean or get together again?

02:58:09 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, I mean, we went on a few dates. And he was nice, you know, like, at first or whatever, I don't know. and um we met on tinder um but i was out one night and um i mean i don't know if you want me to put this out there but since you called me on the morning um you basically i was i was in print and he showed up and i saw him maybe like an hour after i got there and so obviously i went over and i was like hey what's up how are you and i was like oh who are you here with because I didn't see anybody with him. And I'm looking around for his friends or somebody, and he's like, oh, no, I'm just here by myself. And I'm like, oh, okay. And he's like, yeah, I saw you posted that you were here. And I'm like, ooh. Like, what did we, what? And why did you even tell me that? It was so weird.

02:59:07 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 1:

So, Sean, you saw that she was there and you just showed up? Is it because you weren't getting calls back or is it because you just wanted to see her?

02:59:16 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was a little bit of both. You know, I had them hitting her up.

02:59:20 - 02:59:21 | Unknown:

Yeah, nah, nah.

02:59:21 - 02:59:54 | Speaker 2:

But that's weird. That's weird. And I'd be super creeped out. Hold on, hold on. I can't. I'm sorry to cut you guys. There's no way it could have been a little of both because we had just been going out. Like, I had this, me not speaking to him, like, with his reason. Like, this happened before that. So, that's not true. Like, let's not come on here and lie. You know? So, I don't know. So, you definitely, I had just gone out with him, like, maybe, like, a week before that, and then he showed up. Like, it wasn't like I was ignoring him at that time. So, that's not true. Just want to clarify that.

02:59:55 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 1:

So, Sean, you were kind of creeping on her.

02:59:59 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

No, man.

03:00:00 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 7:

I wasn't creepy, man. I mean, if you put it on your Snapchat that you were somewhere, I'm like, oh, shoot, she there, let me go there. And, you know, I'm like, I showed up, and she put it on her Snapchat. If you don't want nobody to know where you were, why don't you put it out there for the work?

03:00:15 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 2:

So, Sean, if she posted herself cooking in the kitchen, would you just go to her house and open the window and slide in because she posted, so she must want you there?

03:00:24 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 4:

No, that's creepy.

03:00:25 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 2:

That's creepy, but showing up at her plans unannounced This is not creepy. By himself.

03:00:34 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 6:

Mind you, he didn't even have a friend with him. He came home.

03:00:39 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 7:

It's a public place. I would show up at a house, but the rest of you, yeah. You were the boss.

03:00:45 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 6:

So how was I supposed to even respond to you? Now you're going to call me on here. Why am I not speaking? Like, I thought you understood that. I didn't know if you were going to, like, find my house or something. I just thought it would be better just to not even, like, give you any ammunition. So, I don't know. This is, like, super weird, actually.

03:01:03 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 1:

Sean doesn't sound like the creepy kind of guy. I know this, you know, sounds weird that sometimes creepy kind of guys have a sound to him. Yeah. But he doesn't sound like that. But what he did, obviously, was creepy. But I'm also under the belief that if you like a guy enough, like, if that guy's hot, like, somebody that you're really into, that would excite you that he just showed up.

03:01:23 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 7:

Interesting. I don't think so. I don't, yeah, I don't.

03:01:25 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 8:

This is one of the, like, normally I say that, oh, if he was hot, it would be okay. I still feel like it would freak me out a little bit.

03:01:32 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 6:

His intentions ain't here. It wasn't like we had been dating for a long time. Like, we had only been on a few dates. Like, it wasn't like, I don't care who it is. Like, it's weird. We go out, like, a couple times, and then you just show up places by yourself.

03:01:44 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 7:

Time out, time out, time out.

03:01:45 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 6:

Like, you could have at least run a friend and said you had someone with you. Hold on.

03:01:49 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 1:

Time out, Sean. Go ahead. What's up?

03:01:51 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 7:

Y'all not about to paint me like I'm some freak, creep master.

03:01:56 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 1:

No, we're not going to do that.

03:01:57 - 03:02:08 | Speaker 7:

You posted on your Snapchat. You were out. I saw it. I decided to show up so I can't see you. If you didn't like that, you could have told me that night.

03:02:08 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 8:

He is not going to understand this.

03:02:10 - 03:02:19 | Speaker 1:

Erica. Erica wants to comment. A listener of ours wants to comment. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Second date update if you want to make a comment. Hi, Erica.

03:02:20 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. I kind of agree with you, Mojo. I feel like a lot of times when somebody comes off a little too strong, It just means that the person's not that into them. Like, I think if you really liked him, you would say, you know, you would say that he showed initiative and all that stuff, you know.

03:02:34 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 1:

Like, this is what a girl's, girls want a guy that shows initiative and says something. Here's a guy that shows up at a bar, basically say, hey, I saw you were on Snapchat. I want to come up and see you. But I don't want to be stalked. Is he stalking? Is she, is he stalking if she's excited to see him? If she's excited to see him, it's not stalking.

03:02:52 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 2:

There was a difference between us talking and saying, hey, I'm going out with my girlfriends. This is where we're going to be, yada, yada, yada, versus me posting on social and you just showing up unannounced.

03:03:03 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 1:

So he should text her ahead of time and say, I see that you're out. Can I come up? Yes. Instead of surprising. If he was going to come, he just shouldn't have said how he knew she was there. He should have just said she was there. He should have just showed up. Well, that's it. Lie. I agree with you. You're too honest of a guy, John. What's up, Angel? Okay. But I said that name really well.

03:03:22 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning.

03:03:23 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 1:

I need a breathalyzer test. I just said your name like I was drunk. Hi, Angelica.

03:03:28 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Hi, it's Angelica from Detroit. First time long. Hey, Angelica on the phone. Thank you. And guess my kid is not in the car. It's just the baby. She's one.

03:03:38 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

03:03:39 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 3:

No, it can lead to, like, stalking. I had a situation, and yes, everybody closes things on social media. It does. He could have just said, oh, I just so happened to, like, be here. But it is pretty creepy because something serious like that happened. It can lead to, like, a situation.

03:03:55 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 1:

What happened? The guy started showing up at your places?

03:03:58 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Like, everywhere I posted because I'm pretty popular on social media. So I would post, like, oh, we're hanging out here, me and my friends. And, like, he would, like, just randomly be at places. He came to my job before.

03:04:10 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh. It's so weird. That's crazy.

03:04:12 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 3:

You don't post until you leave.

03:04:15 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 1:

Watch out.

03:04:15 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 3:

She has to protect herself. I can see how it's creepy.

03:04:18 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Angelica, thank you for the call. What's up, Miracle?

03:04:21 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

03:04:22 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Miracle. What's going on? Second date update. What did you want to say?

03:04:26 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 4:

So I think it was really cute because if I'm dealing with somebody and we've been kicking it for a bit and he show up, okay, now we're about to have a time.

03:04:34 - 03:04:34 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:04:35 - 03:04:40 | Speaker 4:

We at the bar, we're about to have a time. I don't think there was anything wrong with it. Maybe I'm weird. Okay.

03:04:40 - 03:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, the last caller brought up a really good point about the stalking part. You just say that it sounds good. What about you, Rebecca? What do you say?

03:04:47 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 4:

yeah i mean we're living in a in a culture like a hookup culture right where men are not making an effort and so you got this guy who's actually making an effort to show up

03:05:00 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 9:

More than just a hookup. Now that's creepy. Truly, we are also in the era of murder documentaries. And we've seen this play out a million times. But hey, at least you're showing attention if you're murdering somebody. Ted Bundy was just really going out of his way. To follow women and show up.

03:05:17 - 03:05:18 | Unknown:

What?

03:05:19 - 03:05:30 | Speaker 9:

You're on social media saying, here I am, come murder me. And then upset because somebody shows up. This is not a blaming. This is not a blaming. He said I'm not a blaming. Oh, my God.

03:05:32 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 7:

Symphony, second date update. What do you think? Is Sean a murderer?

03:05:37 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 9:

No, I do not define that as creepy or a murderer. That is actually so cute.

03:05:42 - 03:05:42 | Unknown:

What?

03:05:43 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 7:

Would you like Sean's number?

03:05:47 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 9:

Actually, I have a boyfriend, and his name is Sean.

03:05:50 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 7:

Okay, well, it makes it less confusing. All right, but you thought if your guy showed up at the bar, The guy that you were just starting to date just a few times Showed up at the bar like Sean did to Jasmine You would actually think that it was cute A lot of people, by the way, are saying that, Megan

03:06:05 - 03:06:18 | Speaker 9:

This truly is wild to me I feel like you had a conversation with the audience When I wasn't paying attention I'm not leaving you out on this limb I agree with you You played something on the air Like the password is, please call in

03:06:18 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 7:

I said, where are my creeps at? Where are my creepies?

03:06:21 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 9:

I don't understand how every caller is saying that

03:06:25 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 7:

Eric sides with the fact that he thinks it's creepy for a reason. What is that, Eric? It's only creepy if he drove more than 20 minutes. Like, if you drive further, that's creepy. How long of a drive was it, Sean? 20 minutes. Okay. Shut up, Sean. Shut up, man. Just under the creepy wire.

03:06:48 - 03:06:55 | Speaker 4:

There you go. This is the home of the dirty of the 30. Throwback, throwdown. So casual. Second date update, and more of the roses.
