00:03:08 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 6:

You're not being logical is what I'm saying.

00:03:10 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 3:

This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:03:18 - 00:03:52 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:52 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

um a mojo in the morning show i um took a nap yesterday in the afternoon and when i woke up from my nap i had the absolute worst back pain ever like the worst ever and this happens to you when you reach a certain age and i'm at that age and i'm over 50 years old 90 of my injuries are my age and the 90 of the injuries usually happen when i'm sleeping for some reason and i have no idea why that happens to me does do any of our listeners ever do this do you ever get into injury like do you ever wake up in the morning with like an injury and all you were doing was sleeping. That's it. I mean, come on. Why can't I even have a better story like I was trying to deadlift 500 pounds or something like that? Well, remember Spike introduced... back by sneezing ah so isn't it the worst you too yep but sleeping is the big thing it's the

00:05:06 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 2:

craziest thing ever how do you get hurt by doing nothing i said to chelsea because i was sleeping on the couch and i said to chelsea i go hey can i ask you a question because i was like kind of like and i'm walking like this and i said was i like doing anything in my sleep like did i run like a triathlon or something like that and i just didn't realize what i was doing in my sleep because at least give me the I did something while I was sleeping. Like maybe she woke me up in the middle of the nap and we had sex. And maybe.

00:05:36 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

You know that's not true, right?

00:05:37 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, I would like her to fake it.

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

Give me a good story.

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, give me something that would be a good story of why I woke up and my back was just, oh.

00:05:48 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 1:

You know what's so funny you say that is on my way in today, I was like something's wrong with my freaking tooth. Like I feel like I cracked my tooth and I think I did. Like, I've been grinding my teeth so bad in my sleep lately. I thought you were wearing those trays. I do. I wear bite guards, but I'm cracking the bite guard, I think.

00:06:05 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:06:07 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Because I'm doing it so much. But I think I've got to go to the dentist.

00:06:10 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. I need to ask you guys this question. And make me feel good and, like, tell me that you're, you know, you're like 25 years old. And you've injured yourself in your sleep. What did you wake up with? What injury? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 because I woke up from a 48 minute nap and the funny thing was I still had my steps to do yesterday so I still had like 2,900 steps that I had to accomplish I was walking around the house like this sideways oh that hurt when I just did that it's probably even worse oh bitch I'm so tired I hate this stuff You know what it is It's getting me Chelsea keeps trying to tell me I don't take a nap every day I take a nap three days a week So I wake up at 3 o'clock 3.30 in the morning And Chelsea keeps telling me Sleep in the bed Not on the couch

00:07:11 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

00:07:11 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 2:

And don't do the couch thing But I like to be on the couch Because I feel like I'm missing out on something If something happens

00:07:17 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 3:

I do the same thing And I also think if I go in the bedroom I'm going to fall asleep for eight hours So I'm like I just need a quick nap And it's the worst possible thing. Your body is not made to sleep on that couch.

00:07:26 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Amber, hi. Tell us about your sleep injury.

00:07:31 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 5:

I woke up this morning, and I, like, literally cannot move my back at all from my sleep. I don't know what I did, but I cannot move my back either.

00:07:41 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 3:

And you're not 60.

00:07:42 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. How old are you? I'm 29. I'm not 60 either, by the way. I want everybody to know that. Go ahead.

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay. 29.

00:07:49 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

How old are you?

00:07:51 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm 29.

00:07:52 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

29 years old. Don't you wish, honestly, that you had some, like, massive orgy in your bed at night? I do. Yeah. Like, at least give you something.

00:08:03 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 5:

I did ask my husband this morning, did we have sex last week? Like, did something happen? Because I really can't move my back. I can't put any weight on my legs for some reason. Right.

00:08:12 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

You know what it is? And that would be a much better story, like Mojo said, if that was why you hurt yourself, at least you'd feel good about it.

00:08:18 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Amber, I'm going to make you feel better about this. You have a baby that you're carrying around all the time, for gosh sakes, you know? That probably is not good for your back.

00:08:27 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 5:

Right. I'm a teacher, and I'm like a director of a school of a daycare. So I work in the infant room, in the toddler room, and the preschool. Oh, wow.

00:08:35 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:35 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

I'm chasing kids and carrying kids all day long.

00:08:38 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

It's those GD kids that you're with right there. That's the problem, the stress. Hey, thanks for the call. Thanks for making me feel better. Renee, what's up?

00:08:46 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so I am 27. and I have five kids and I randomly pulled my back in my sleep that makes me feel so much better like I woke up and I was just completely like down and out like I told my husband I said because he goes to work super early so I told him I'm like you might want to have your phone on you because like I'm a little bit like help I've fallen and I can't get up and so he had his phone on and sure enough I got up to get like one of my kids a glass of water and I completely fell on the ground

00:09:21 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 2:

oh my gosh 27 years old I I'm not happy because this injury happened to you I'm just happy that it happened to you and you're young and it makes me feel good so it happens and I'm like I didn't

00:09:32 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

even do anything so I went to the doctor and the chiropractor like what'd you do I'm like

00:09:36 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

literally nothing I know don't you want to have like a better story than that yes I would love to have had a better story but there was none there yeah I wanted to tell like I saved like a family from a burning car in a traffic accident and had to carry had to carry the dad out of the car to the safety of his young children I want to have like some big moment like that like I was like

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 8:

Yes, I did, but I was not I just pulled my back

00:10:04 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

You know what we'll do? We'll pretend like we were at that same traffic accident Pick an intersection, we'll take it, okay?

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 8:

Okay, cool

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 4:

Alright, thank you for the call

00:10:12 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, thanks

00:10:13 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Julie, hi, what kind of injury did you have, Julie?

00:10:18 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 8:

So I wasn't sleeping But I was sitting at my kids' Little League football game And when I stood up at the end of A few of the games I had a really hard time walking For about a week For no reason

00:10:32 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 4:

All you're doing is sit in one of those Chairs right Like camping chairs right

00:10:38 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 8:

No no no it was bleachers

00:10:41 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh there's the problem It's the bleachers

00:10:43 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 8:

So now I'm prepared Now I have you know the little cushion one That folds out for the bleachers Because that was awful I'm 34 and this was probably about 4 or 5 years ago And I've had back pain And starting my early teens, I've had pain. I have sciatica. I had shingles two years ago, I want to say.

00:11:03 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 4:

You had shingles and you were only 36 years old?

00:11:07 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 8:

I was 33 when I got shingles.

00:11:09 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

Wow. And that's the worst pain.

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 8:

My sciatic nerve.

00:11:12 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:11:13 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 8:

So I had on top of my normal back pain. Sciatic nerve pain is the worst.

00:11:17 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea had shingles, and it was horrible. It was so bad. I felt so bad for her. I've never seen this woman ever cry. Like literally never seen her cry And she was crying with pain with that That's horrible Chuck how you doing there kiddo

00:11:33 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 3:

Hello so I fell asleep on the couch In a weird position And ended up hyperextending A muscle in my shoulder and I went through Six weeks of PT to get it Back in

00:11:44 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Just from a nap and you're not 50 years old You're not like me 51 years old

00:11:49 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 3:

I was 50 at the time

00:11:51 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 4:

Go screw yourself You're a band in my ass. Okay. All right, Chuck. You know what? I'm telling you, Chuck. That's the thing. I think it's once I turned 40 is when I started all of a sudden going, oh, that doesn't feel right. You know? Get a recliner. It'll make you. I kind of refuse to get a recliner because I feel like once I get a recliner, then I'm like that guy.

00:12:17 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 6:

It's like me getting a minivan. I know. There's a line. You draw the line.

00:12:20 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I can do it. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:12:25 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

00:16:20 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 3:

All right, I want to start off with an update on what's happening in East Palestine, Ohio. Residents are reporting rashes, headaches two weeks after that massive toxic chemical explosion following the train derailment. So people are reporting dead chickens and pets. Dead fish are washing up in the local streams and rivers. And again, lots of reported health issues on adults and children. This is East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway.

00:16:52 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. That was the biggest slap in the face. That tells you right now he doesn't care about us. So he can send every agency he wants to. But I found that out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in the Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us. And I'm furious. On President's Day in our country. Yeah, President's Day in our country. He's over in Ukraine. So that tells you what kind of guy he is.

00:17:15 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 3:

Reality TV star Mama June Shannon and Justin Stroud got married for the second time in Panama City over the weekend. They first got married in Georgia last year, but had another larger ceremony over the weekend. Mama June says she was really happy that all of her daughters, Honey Boo Boo, Pumpkin, Chubbs, and Chickadee, were able to attend and participate in this ceremony as the entire family hadn't been hanging out together in more than a decade. The wedding, of course, will be shown on the new Wee TV show, Mama June Family Crisis, that's set to debut in May. Harry Styles drinking some booze out of his own shoe in Australia last night. He decided to partake in, I guess I would call it an interesting Australian drinking tradition. It's called doing a shoeie. That is, you pour alcohol into your shoe and you chug it.

00:18:06 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

This is one of the most disgusting traditions I've ever had. I feel like a different person. I feel ashamed of myself. It feels so personal. Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people. I'll be discussing this with my therapist at length. At length.

00:18:28 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 3:

His shoe of choice, the Adidas by Gucci gazelle sneaker. My dad actually did this at my wedding. And it was my stepmom's high heel. Oh, yes. Oh, he did. I don't want to try it. He did. No, you don't. A little bit. No, you don't. A first-generation Apple iPhone recently sold for more than $63,000 at auction.

00:18:53 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 5:

Let's check our junk drawers, everybody. We might have one.

00:18:56 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so bidding for the 2007 phone began at $2,500. It was still shrink-wrapped in its box. Like, this thing was untouched. It received 27 bids by the time the auction concluded on Sunday. And again, $63,356.40 was the selling price. Tattoo artist Karen Green was gifted the iPhone more than a decade ago. She said she couldn't use it because she had Verizon. And if you remember, it only worked on AT&T's network when it first debuted. So, yeah, $63,000. Holy cow. And just a heads up, all of this week, in the 930 Dirty, we are going to be qualifying you for a trip to the Oscars, including flights, hotel, tickets to all sorts of VIP events. That is happening March 12th. You're going to get a $50 cash card just for qualifying. So make sure you're listening to the 930 Dirty. And, of course, for all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:19:50 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Let's go! Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scam is next. The background of...

00:20:00 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

of the the children's having fun and i said mike what are you doing and he says i am watching the what was it mickey mouse or uh back and forth between he calls it mini everything's

00:20:11 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 3:

mini mouse my son loves mickey mouse but he calls it mini mouse yeah it's the mickey mouse clubhouse yeah yep and so we watch a lot of that and encanto and encanto eight million times and it's it's it's

00:20:23 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 4:

fun because ally what time does ally get home from uh from her work uh it's different each day but

00:20:28 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Usually like 6, like 5, 6 o'clock.

00:20:30 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So it was probably like, what, 5 o'clock last night that you and I were talking? And you had to get off the phone with me because it sounded to me like you have to prepare yourself for when mom's coming home because things get a little crazy.

00:20:45 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, that and I made a couple changes at the house and was preparing myself for the reaction for those changes.

00:20:52 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 2:

Like good things you did around the house? Like got things done?

00:20:55 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, sort of. Sort of. I decided that the living room, the way our furniture is set up or was set up, is the two chairs don't even point at the TV. They just point in the direction of the center of the room. And then the couch faces the TV. And for some reason, I think that all, I think everybody thinks this, but that all couches and chairs should face towards your television. That's how the room should be set up. So I rearranged the TV, the couches, or the couch, the chairs, everything in the room. The little table that sits in there, everything in the entire living room while she was gone. And she got home, and you would have thought that I had completely remodeled the entire house without asking her permission. She was so angry with me that I had done that. And, like, she had a reason for everything. Like, everything was in its place for a reason. But I just said, like, you can't watch TV. Like, if you sit in a chair to watch TV and have to turn to your right to watch TV, that feels like it's in the wrong spot.

00:21:55 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 4:

It's not about the comfort of you watching television, Michael. It's about the aesthetics of the room.

00:22:00 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 3:

That's what she said. Quote, unquote. Basically, yeah.

00:22:06 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I get her point on this one, but yet I think that there's a double standard. Because if she were to go and change the room around like my wife has done and not said anything to me, I would not get a say-so. So how would you feel if Allie switched the room around but didn't give you a say-so?

00:22:23 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 3:

It would take me a week to notice. Really? Yeah, yeah. I mean, the only reason I notice this is because when I sit down to watch TV, I have to turn to the right. Like, I can't just sit forward and watch a show in a chair. I have to literally either turn the chair or turn my head, and it just feels like it's in the wrong spot.

00:22:40 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 4:

Do you have to tell your significant other that you're rearranging the room? I don't necessarily think that you have ownership of being able to do it and change it around.

00:22:52 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 5:

The good thing is that you can always be changed back. Sometimes you need to do it to have visualization of what your grand vision was for the room.

00:23:03 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 4:

Do you think that Allie was not only just upset over the fact that you changed the room around, but maybe there was other things on the to-do list that you could have been doing instead of changing your room around?

00:23:15 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Have you been talking to Allie? It feels like it's collusion.

00:23:18 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 4:

I tell you this all the time, dude, and I tell you this, that you guys are Chelsea and I 20-some years ago. Like when our kids were as young as your kids, you guys, you and I, you're going to make the same mistakes that I make.

00:23:34 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

It was, so I, good, so warn me. I've been trying to. Future me, warn me so I can stop doing this.

00:23:41 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 4:

What do you think our conversation was about yesterday?

00:23:44 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 3:

So I have, yes, to answer your question, yes, there are a million other things like like uh we've lived in this house for a little over a year now and there are things that need to be hung up on the wall like pictures that i still have yet to hang up because i just i find 800 other things that i i do we have with dishes i mean i should have probably did the dishes uh but yes there's a million other things i should have done besides rearrange the entire living room like she walked in it was one of those she walked in the kids run up she says they say hi to her i'm like yes she's she's in a good mood she walks in with her coat in her bag and she just sets it on the ground with just a sigh of, you've got to be kidding me. What is this?

00:24:26 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Julia is on Team Alley. What's up, Julia?

00:24:30 - 00:24:46 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So the room, Mike, is not necessarily supposed to be set up for the TV. It's supposed to be set up so you can have a conversation. That's how you set up a room. I do agree

00:24:46 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 2:

with Mike, though. I feel like all pieces of furniture should be around facing the TV.

00:24:51 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, people don't entertain like they used to where you used to want to have them facing each other.

00:24:56 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. But when you come over...

00:25:00 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 6:

If you have, I mean, I don't know how most rooms are set up, but unless you have a chaise lounge that can face the TV or, I mean, even a sectional, you're not going to always be facing the TV. You're going to have to turn your head. So if you have two chairs, then you know what? When you guys are there, just, I do have a very few chairs.

00:25:17 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he turned some heads. He turned Allie's head when she walked in that room.

00:25:20 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 1:

And may I say this? The room is to be set up whatever way Allie wants it to be set up. It has nothing to do with the TV or conversation. Mike, Mike, you should rearrange your bedroom And just see what kind of reaction Oh no, hell no

00:25:35 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 4:

00:28:18 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. You are correct.

00:28:19 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good. Number eight. Is that a lucky number for you?

00:28:22 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 6:

Hopefully it is today. We'll find out. I like it.

00:28:24 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 2:

We'll find out. We have a new challenger for you. Her name is Kay. Hi, Kay. Hey, guys. How are you doing? Good. We're doing great. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you do? Where are you from?

00:28:34 - 00:28:39 | Speaker 6:

I am from southwest Detroit, and I am a DJ and a musician. Wait, that's sweet.

00:28:40 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay, very cool. Well, we've got a creative type here. Are you up this early in the morning on a regular basis?

00:28:45 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 6:

I am, actually. I try to go outdoor dashing this early.

00:28:48 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, good. Well, we've got to keep you going here, and hopefully you've been paying attention to all the celebrity dirty because that's the key to winning this thing. Let's see how you do. So first, why don't you say goodbye to Holly, and we'll lock her up in a soundproof booth.

00:29:02 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 6:

All right, see you, Holly.

00:29:04 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 2:

Bye, Holly. There she goes. All right, Holly's locked up. So, Kay, we're going to ask you five pop culture questions. Whoever gets the most right will be our champion. And if there's a tie, it'll go to Holly, our current champion. Here we go, okay? Question number one. Mama June Shannon got married in Panama City over the weekend. Who is her pageant queen reality show daughter?

00:29:28 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 6:

Honey Boo Boo.

00:29:29 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Question number two. Pink came out the dish that filming the music video for this song with Christina Aguilera, Maya, and Lil' Kim was not fun at all. What is the name of the song?

00:29:39 - 00:29:40 | Unknown:

Oh, God.

00:29:41 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 6:

Rizik. I'm going to have to pass.

00:29:44 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 2:

Question number three. Madonna is finally joking about her ever-changing face in a tweet saying that the swelling is going down and she feels cute. Which of these songs is not a Madonna song? Like a Prayer, Papa Don't Preach, or Landslide? Landslide? Question number four, Alec Baldwin got the gun enhancement charge dropped in his fatal onset shooting case. What's the name of the movie he was filming when the tragedy happened?

00:30:09 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh, I literally just read this article. Three seconds. I'm going to have to pass on this one, too.

00:30:14 - 00:30:22 | Speaker 2:

All right. And question number five, congratulations to Rebel Wilson. She got engaged over the weekend. She played the character Fat Amy in which movie franchise?

00:30:23 - 00:30:23 | Unknown:

Pitch Perfect.

00:30:24 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's see how you did. We're going to bring Holly back to the air.

00:30:28 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 4:

It's different when you're put on the spy. Isn't it, Kay? Yes. It's tougher. It really is. You still got three out of five correct. It happens to everybody.

00:30:38 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 2:

All right. Three out of five. Let's see if that's enough to get Holly knocked off her pedestal here. Good morning, Holly. You back with us?

00:30:45 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 6:

I am. I'm here. All right.

00:30:46 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 2:

Question number one, Holly. Mama June Shannon got married in Panama City over the weekend. Who is her pageant queen reality show daughter?

00:30:55 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 3:

Honey Boo Boo.

00:30:57 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 2:

One to one. Question number two, Pink came out the dish that filming the music video for this song with Christina Aguilera, Maya, and Lil' Kim was not at all fun. What is the name of that song?

00:31:07 - 00:31:09 | Speaker 4:

Lady Marmalade. Two to one.

00:31:10 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 2:

Question number three, Madonna is finally joking about her ever-changing face in a tweet saying that the swelling finally is going down and she feels cute. Which of these songs is not a Madonna song? Like a Prayer, Papa Don't Preach, or Landslide? Landslide. Two to two. Question number four, Alec Baldwin got the gun enhancement charge dropped in his fatal onset shooting case. What's the name of the movie he was filming when the tragedy happened?

00:31:36 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 4:

Rust. Three to two.

00:31:38 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 2:

And you don't even need it, but question number five, congratulations to Rebel Wilson. She got engaged over the weekend. She played the character Fat Amy in which movie franchise? Pitch Perfect.

00:31:49 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 4:

All right. There it is. Final score, four to three. And Holly, you are back with us tomorrow morning.

00:31:55 - 00:31:56 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations, Holly.

00:31:57 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, good job.

00:32:00 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 2:

You're really plowing through these questions. We'll see how you do tomorrow. We find a new challenger. If anybody wants to challenge her, well, just text IWANTTOPLAY to 95500 and our producers might call you to play this week. Kate, we got a great prize for you. We're going to give you a $50 gift card to Tabooli just for playing this morning. And you have a great day and be safe door dashing, okay?

00:32:21 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 6:

Thank you so much. I wanted to go.

00:32:23 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:32:23 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for listening. Mojo in the morning. show told you we're not done with the with the duty talk this one though is more uh less duty and more would you do or not do something so a big thing that has been seen all over tiktok is the tiktok of in in megan and uh in kp this is your guys's uh topic because both you guys have been like obsessed with this thing and then also arguing with each other over what you would do

00:32:54 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 6:

Because KP is wrong.

00:32:55 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 3:

All right. So there's a TikTok of a girl that said that she was wearing a pair of, were they Lululemons?

00:33:06 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 6:

They were. They were Lululemon yoga pants.

00:33:08 - 00:33:10 | Speaker 3:

And she was at Disney.

00:33:10 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 6:

Correct.

00:33:11 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 3:

When she got doody on it, right?

00:33:15 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 6:

Well, she sat in a bench that had some human doodoo on it. And she sat into it. And she decided to throw away her pants. and then buy some new ones at a gift shop. And KP has the audacity to say that she would keep those pants.

00:33:31 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. I would keep those duty-covered pants. You know how much Lululemon leggings are?

00:33:35 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 6:

You could not pay me to sit in pants.

00:33:39 - 00:33:48 | Speaker 5:

No matter how many times you'd wash them. I'm not going to wear them. Oh, my gosh. No, there's no getting the doo-doo out of that. Never. You got a washing machine? Nope.

00:33:48 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 1:

But in your brain, you know there was duty on the pants. Correct. So psychologically, I could never hold on to those. Really?

00:33:54 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 5:

What?

00:33:55 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. It depends on how much was it. All right, so.

00:33:59 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever bought clothes at Plato's Closet before? Nope. Salvation Army. Nope. What? Of course I have. I'm not going to give you any credit. Of course.

00:34:06 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 1:

But what you don't know won't hurt you. You don't know what happened in those pants you bought.

00:34:14 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm crying for crying out loud. You guys are going to waste a pair of Lululemon leggings. start at $90. You're not going to throw away a perfectly good pair of pants when you own a washing machine. What are you using? What are those little washboards to wash your clothes? Are they really that expensive? I don't own anything Lululemon. They're really that expensive. Oh my gosh, yeah. And they last you like four or five years. They're wonderful.

00:34:38 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 6:

I'm not in the right tax bracket.

00:34:41 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 5:

Neither am I.

00:34:42 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, and then we'll get to this debate in a second. I've got some questions to ask. And I don't know. I don't think you guys can answer it because it was just a TikTok that she didn't explore. Unless you guys follow this girl on TikTok. We do. I love her.

00:34:54 - 00:34:55 | Speaker 5:

I don't follow her. I do.

00:34:55 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Can you tell me, how did the poop get on the...

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 2:

bench that she sat on.

00:35:01 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 8:

It was probably a child.

00:35:02 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 2:

Somebody was cleaning. I don't think you can change a baby's diaper on a bench. I think they ask you to go to the bathroom for that.

00:35:10 - 00:35:12 | Speaker 4:

I would assume so.

00:35:12 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 2:

I think that they'll come over to you and say, excuse me, can you go into the bathroom?

00:35:16 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, but you can't have your baby's ass out. I didn't know we had celebrity accompaniment today. That's amazing. Could you please put your baby's wiener back in its pants? What about you, Goofy? Goofy, would you re-wear a pair of duty pants? Well, did you notice that Donald Duck never wears pants? Because he's always crapping himself.

00:35:46 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Lord. All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What would you do? If you sat in to a little bit of duty, would you throw those pants away or would you get them washed um i would do it she did it definitely and go and buy myself a new pair of pants although i i like megan have the same issue i don't buy lululemon pants no i don't a reason for me is i don't fit into them they don't have my size that's it but you know who else doesn't have my size the gift shop at disney doesn't have my size So I would be in my, all right, we're going back to the hotel moment. Exactly. I ain't getting into these pants.

00:36:32 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 4:

But then think about it. She has to fly home with the poop pants, too. So that's contaminating all of your other clothes.

00:36:37 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 2:

But can't you, like, put them in a plastic bag?

00:36:39 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 4:

But even a plastic bag does not, like, seal in the poop.

00:36:47 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 2:

Renna, your thoughts on this one? Megan says no. KP says yes.

00:36:51 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 7:

what would you do uh yes because i know my sisters for a fact have had bought older lululemons from marketplace and then they return them to lululemon and they

00:37:04 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 4:

get credit and you can buy new stuff no no no no no you can't return the poop pants that's wrong

00:37:10 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 7:

that's ethically wrong but you wash them and then you return them okay how do you know my The ones you buy off Marketplace, what the heck was on them?

00:37:21 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 3:

But my sister don't want to wear something else to say, so they buy them cheaper, and

00:37:25 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 7:

then they return them to Lululemon, and they get credit for it. Oh, no.

00:37:29 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 2:

All good points that are backing Megan into a corner.

00:37:31 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 8:

I hate it.

00:37:32 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 2:

Erica, who do you agree with?

00:37:35 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 8:

I definitely agree with KP. What? Well, honestly, if you think, so I have three kids. It wouldn't be the first time I had human poop on me. There's no way I would throw away $99 leggings. Oh, God.

00:37:49 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 4:

You're just reinforcing to not have kids, though, not to keep pants.

00:37:53 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 8:

Well, nobody said they were great.

00:37:58 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 2:

Mia, hi, Mojo in the Morning Show. A little impromptu survey here. Hi, Mia.

00:38:06 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 1:

Mia, turn your radio down. Listen to the phone.

00:38:08 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, poor Mia. Poor Mia. Yeah. I always kind of like listening to ourselves sometimes just to see what we sound like. Oh, she got disconnected. Hi, Jake. Let's get a guy's perspective on this one. Jake, what do you think?

00:38:21 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 6:

I would definitely hang out to him and use like a half a bottle of the Lysol disinfectant detergent.

00:38:27 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes. What? Rational to do. Megan's just rich and she can throw her clothes away.

00:38:32 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 6:

I would do, like, seriously, I would wash them, like, four times with a half a bottle of the life I'll disinfect it and the Tide Pods, like, four or five of the Tide Pods. Yes.

00:38:43 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Or head over to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and you ride the Crush and Gusher and, you know, risk those suckers out in the surf pool.

00:38:51 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 4:

I don't think we're getting fair results.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 2:

Nope, I got one for you.

00:38:53 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 4:

KP is screening the call. She's only picking the people that are defending her.

00:38:58 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 2:

On note, Natalie agrees with Megan. Is that right, Natalie?

00:39:01 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 9:

I do. Megan, I'm with you. Thank you. The poop pan's got to go. I'm not carrying them around all day.

00:39:09 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 7:

Thank you.

00:39:11 - 00:39:20 | Speaker 9:

I'm not putting them in my washing machine to have a poopy washing machine. It reminds me of those, like, rewashable diapers.

00:39:21 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, when people would use cloth diapers instead of pampers.

00:39:25 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I can't imagine putting that in my washing machine.

00:39:29 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 2:

It's green.

00:39:30 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Did it for decades

00:39:31 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 2:

Dave what did you say

00:39:35 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay Me and my wife were away And she left me for a little bit And came back at a really long time And I'm like are you okay And she's like I just took a $40 Poop and I'm like what She had an accident And threw her underwear away

00:39:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh Yeah I've done that I actually have thrown away underwear.

00:40:00 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 4:

you're with megan yeah no i know but i but i but i don't know and that's bad for me too because when i find a pair of underwear that fits right i want to keep those what about if like somebody

00:40:12 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 5:

puked on your shoes while you're in line at disney mojo oh god what are you doing with your nikes let

00:40:17 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 4:

me tell you this i've had to throw a couple of uh i had to throw a pair of white um adidas away because i actually dropped spaghetti sauce on them and couldn't get them off so it would remind me that it's near impossible to get that stain out, even with one of those Tide Pod sticks. Well, in shoes, there's so many stitchings in different areas that it could get into that will never come out. Every crack and crevice, it does. Yeah. Text her here that says, can you guys please stop the number two talk this morning?

00:40:49 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I hate to say this, but the phone scam I'm about to do, I'm going to do some bathroom talk, too. Oh, my God. Tell your friends that you heard something funny this morning on Mojo in the Morning, even though you just heard that awful segment.

00:41:03 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 4:

Now back to the only thing Michigan and Ohio can agree on. Mojo in the Morning. All right, so this morning on the show, I learned something new, and I don't know how I've never heard this before. I've always heard of red flags, but I never heard of green flags. And you taught me that, Megan.

00:41:21 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

You're welcome. I'm actually a little bit surprised this morning because I was like, it's a green flag. He goes, oh, you kids, you youths, what is a green flag?

00:41:28 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard of that before.

00:41:31 - 00:41:31 | Speaker 3:

Green flag.

00:41:32 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

And I feel like I'm kind of in the know from time to time. You're hip. I feel like I'm like one of those hipsters, hipster dads.

00:41:40 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 3:

Super groovy. You're a cool cat.

00:41:42 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 4:

So this is interesting. So Megan says it was a big green flag when she found this out.

00:41:51 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe I'm about to say this, But I am a little bit sorry, men, that we bring up your red flags all of the time. I'm only a little bit sorry, though. I'm not very sorry about it. But I did think, you know what would be fair, is bringing up green flags for just a second. Because I had a friend go to a guy's house. She was snooping around, as we do. And she found a box of tampons in his bathroom. Now, she kind of was off put by this, which I thought was kind of shocking and weird. I thought that would be a good thing. But she was like, I don't get it. I don't like it. I don't know whose they are, yada, yada, yada. So she confronted the dude, and he was like, no, I just, I had sisters growing up. I always have tampons. I just know it's the nice thing to do. And I immediately went, green flag. That is a huge green flag.

00:42:36 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 4:

See, I would have thought that's a red flag because it's a BS story, and he's got a girlfriend, and that's why he had him there. But if you're curious about- Megan, by the way, always sees the brighter side of things in men. Wait, wait, wait, what? I always see that.

00:42:49 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 5:

What? I'm sorry. But if you're a thoughtful person It's just like having toilet paper You want to have all the products Your guests or people might need Like I always had them Because my daughters I had them in my apartment Because I have daughters

00:43:05 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 4:

But that's just recent, right? That you moved into an apartment That you started doing that

00:43:08 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 2:

Wes has them And he has a daughter But not at the age where She needs tampons yet

00:43:16 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 4:

Wait, why does he do that?

00:43:17 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 2:

The same reason He just said it's like a courtesy To have them Really? Yeah Yes. It's just, you know, half the population needs them.

00:43:25 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 3:

Be nice if you had one just in case.

00:43:26 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, so I'm going to throw this out there. Are you somebody that is, like what these guys are talking about, it's like courtesy, it's nice, or are you somebody that if you went to a guy's house and he had tampons there, you would say to yourself, all right, he's got a girlfriend, and this is why he's got it there. She left it there.

00:43:44 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 5:

Now, if you find a hair tie on the floor of his bedroom, that's a red flag.

00:43:50 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 4:

I would think he's had a girlfriend over. She spent the night. She bought him and she left him and they were there. And now he's using the excuse of the fact that he's doing this so he can have a green flag moment. That's the reason why he's doing it. I'm telling you, that's what I think. I think a majority of women would think that instead of thinking how nice it is that a guy's thinking of that.

00:44:14 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, clearly that's what my friend thought. Why am I the positive one? I'm sorry. You know what it is?

00:44:21 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 4:

It's this new Megan, this new 10,000 steps a day, Megan. It's changing you for the brighter side of things.

00:44:28 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 3:

So wait, we're giving me an out to stop working out so I can go back to my normal self? No.

00:44:32 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 4:

I'm liking this. I do like this. Dan, how you doing?

00:44:36 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you guys doing?

00:44:37 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on, Dan? What's happening? What do you want to say?

00:44:41 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 1:

You know, I've had girls tell me that it's a green flag before. Like, it's always a good thing if you want to, like, get a girl to stay over or something like that. It's, like, always a nice touch.

00:44:50 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 4:

So that's why you have gone out and done it, because girls told you to do it.

00:44:54 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Like, some of my close friends have told me. They're like, oh, yeah, that's definitely a way to keep them around.

00:44:59 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:45:00 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 7:

uh leah what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hey um i think it would just be a courtesy okay so you also would look at it as a green flag um yeah because um even if he didn't have

00:45:14 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 6:

a girlfriend or if he had family or anybody um he could just have tampons or pads or anything

00:45:21 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 7:

over there just to um for the use of anybody sure yeah all right julia green flag or would you red flag if you went to a guy's place a single guy's place and he had an open box of tampons

00:45:37 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 3:

underneath his uh his sink initially i would red flag for sure um if i asked him about it and he explained it like that it's totally a green flag and i think it's like crazy that we think it's like weird that guy could be like prepared and nice yeah yeah i'm with you like i want to put

00:45:57 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 1:

everything out that will keep my the possibility of my date staying at my place and not leaving

00:46:02 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 7:

early you know whatever that is but i'm not saying it because of any other reason then we live in a world of lots of cheating right we have a lot of of unfaithful people yeah and and i I would have thought to myself, okay, this guy is not, you know, he's not CVS. And he's not making it so that it's convenient in aisle number nine. He's making this thing, you know, convenient for himself because some girl left this there.

00:46:31 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 4:

But if he was cheating, there would be more things there. There would be more, like a blow dryer. There would be other stuff. If there was more of a significant relationship, it wouldn't just be a box of tampons.

00:46:42 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 7:

But you know what you do then? You've got to keep looking. You've got to look around. You've got to snoop a little bit more. Maybe you've got to snoop in the higher cabinets.

00:46:50 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 2:

So this texter makes a really good comparison. It's the same as having beer or wine in your house. Even if you don't drink it, you keep it on hand in case you have guests that want it when they're over.

00:46:59 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. Right.

00:47:00 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Laura, what's up?

00:47:02 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, so I want red and green flags to be so simple, but I think it's an age and a sibling thing. So, like, if he's got all brothers and he's, like, 19 years old and has a box of tampons, he probably has, like, 10 girlfriends. But if he's 30 and grew up with sisters, he's probably mature enough to understand that that's the need of a woman.

00:47:23 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 7:

So the age of the person decides whether or not it's a green flag or a red flag, you're saying?

00:47:28 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 5:

I think it assists in the color choice, yes.

00:47:32 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

00:47:32 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 4:

Just as a PSA to men, put a box in your – get a good kind. Get them with plastic, not cardboard Every girl will thank you But get a good kind and she'll be way more likely To feel better about you That's what I'll say It's a peony dropper

00:47:48 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 7:

Is there a particular brand of them Tampax Pearl No Is there a particular brand of them That would turn a green flag to a red flag

00:47:58 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 4:

Anything other than Cardboard applicator

00:48:01 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 7:

Is there like flavors, like different kinds What?

00:48:05 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

There's not flavors, but there are color-coded ones based on how heavy your flow is, Mike. And don't get scented. Please, for the love of God, do not buy scented tampons.

00:48:14 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 7:

Wait, what if the guy has all the different flows there?

00:48:18 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I am impressed. Super green flag. Take off your clothes.

00:48:23 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 7:

What's going on? How you doing, Julie?

00:48:26 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo, I'm totally with you. If he was going to be courteous, he'd have tampons and a hairdryer and deodorant And some body spray and bath soap So I think it's

00:48:37 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 7:

See, I think that that's a bigger red flag If he's got all that stuff there Then I think

00:48:42 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 1:

I like that you trust zero people in life Like you can't ever just say someone

00:48:47 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 7:

I know too many people that have cheated on spouses And I just know that that's how they work Guys that will leave Or have their girls that they've been with

00:48:55 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Leave things right out in the open when they know they're having a guest They're going to put a hair dryer out

00:48:59 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 7:

Kind of

00:48:59 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 6:

But you're going to have a box of tampons That's a little bit strange

00:49:03 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

If you're going to have a guest, don't you think you're going to sweep the whole apartment and remove any evidence of a girlfriend? Maybe it's just they're being nice and they're being smart.

00:49:14 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 7:

Well, I just don't trust men.

00:49:16 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it could be different because you have a house full of boys? I'm a man and I don't trust myself. You have a house full of boys. I had a house full of girls. So, like, I'm just more in tune to the thought process.

00:49:26 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 6:

I had girls and boys. I mean, if you're going to take care of my period, why won't you take care of my hair? I mean, it just doesn't make sense. All right, let me ask you this question.

00:49:35 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 7:

What if you go to a girl's apartment and the girl has men's brand shaving cream and men's deodorant inside of her cabinet?

00:49:43 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 2:

She'd be a normal, sweaty girl.

00:49:45 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 7:

So she's.

00:49:47 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm kidding, but like for a long time I used men's deodorant and it was mine.

00:49:52 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 6:

No, my daughters wear boys deodorant. Yeah, that would be a little bit strange. I would not keep that and I would have that for somebody that I was seeing or coming to visit. me i would not keep that on hand um what's up uh gene hey okay hey yep hey yep dakota what's up hello hello hello um so i find it like super courteous that like there would be a box of tampons just laying around because when my boyfriend moved into his apartment the first thing that he told us to do when we started shopping was to go over to the women's section Like for feminine products And get what I had to get And now everywhere that we go He keeps a tampon in his pocket So that this way if an accident happens And I don't have anything He always has one Does he have a brother? Yeah I do

00:50:45 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 8:

You know what? There you go What do you think about doing this for a class? Why don't we have Megan Lead a class of teaching guys what they need to have in their places if they're dating.

00:51:01 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 2:

I would honestly love to. I feel like a lot of guys are kind of off-put by like this and not my responsibility. And I don't think they don't... Oh, God. It's Friday. I don't think they realize how a little bit really does go a long way with ladies.

00:51:15 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 8:

Seriously, look how excited every woman is about a tampon. Amber, what's going on?

00:51:21 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on, you guys?

00:51:23 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. Good morning. What's up?

00:51:24 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 5:

all right so i would say that it's a green flag because it is common courtesy you can look at it that way but i'm in my middle 20s and i had a boyfriend and he had his own apartment and i keep my things over there i used to keep my pads and my tampons out in the open so they can be seen in case he did bring somebody over um and then what happened was he actually did bring somebody over, but he hid my stuff away.

00:51:53 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 8:

He did a sweep of the

00:51:56 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 3:

apartment. See, that's what I'm telling you. If a guy's going to do that, he's going to hide every evidence of a girlfriend. He's not going to leave it out

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 5:

for you. Yeah, he's going to clear it away.

00:52:04 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. So much. So exhausting. Well, it's like the

00:52:07 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

difference between, does he have a toothbrush under the counter that's new in its packaging for you in case you ever need one? Or do you see two toothbrushes out on the counter, then you have to worry who's that other one belonging to? Craig, what's up?

00:52:19 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to ask Mike if he thought that came in a party fact

00:52:23 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 7:

I haven't had the privilege of buying tampons yet as a husband you've never been sent out that's not true I did buy them once for her but she was on FaceTime with me the whole time so she helped me

00:52:35 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 8:

I actually have Chelsea just take a picture of it and send it to me and I look for it based on the color of the box it's the orange box

00:52:43 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 3:

pumpkin spice flavor

00:52:45 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 8:

yeah you're what Craig

00:52:48 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm married going on almost 12 years, and there's a specific – my wife uses Kotex, but a specific type, and none of the stores stock them anymore, so I had to go on Amazon and buy them in bulk.

00:52:59 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. You're so sweet. I'm impressed you even know what brand. Yeah. Seriously.

00:53:05 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 4:

And everybody's like, oh, Kotex is Kotex. I'm like, no, there's a specific type of Kotex. If I get the wrong one, she has a reaction, so I have to go buy them in bulk. And her sister uses the same thing. So there's a joke going around that I'm her sister's tampon dealer. Spike does another assistless survey at 750.

00:53:25 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

The gun enhancement charge against him. Now, this is big because had Alec Baldwin been convicted of that charge, it would have meant a minimum prison sentence of five years for him. Now, he still faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, But it's possible that he could avoid jail time altogether, even if he's convicted. The maximum term, in case you're curious, would be 18 months in prison now. Eminem filing an opposition against a trademark application for Reasonably Shady. It's the name of a podcast, okay? Em said that he believes his brand will be damaged if Real Housewives of Potomac stars Gisele Bryan and Robin Dixon are issued that trademark. So they want to put it on stuff like water bottles and lip gloss, sweatshirts, hats, jackets, socks, in addition to that being the name of their podcast. And so Marshall's saying reasonably shady will cause confusion in the minds of consumers. Obviously, we've all known him as Slim Shady or Shady since the late 90s. So he's fighting that one hard. We'll see where it goes. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes threw a pretty extravagant second birthday party for their daughter Sterling on Sunday, a week after the NFL superstar won his second Super Bowl. So they're posting really cute photos and videos on Instagram. And the one thing that made me go, wait, whoa, they gifted Sterling again, their two year old daughter. She just turned to a mini black Chanel purse valued.

00:55:00 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 3:

At $4,800. That's so stupid. So there's this video. She's got a piece of raisin toast in one hand and a brand new $5,000 Chanel bag. Don't touch it.

00:55:11 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 4:

You have butter on your hands. Two years old.

00:55:14 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 3:

Madonna joked about her unrecognizable Grammy's appearance yesterday after she was just mocked online and is still being mocked online. She tweeted, Look how cute I am Now that swelling from surgery has gone down LOL Along with a photo of her Kind of hanging out in ripped jeans And a spiritually hungry hat Still looking the same I don't know what she did to her poor face

00:55:41 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 4:

Too much is what she did

00:55:43 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 3:

Like a lot Moving some fat around I don't know Do you think she got those buckle fat removals That everybody's talking about Okay so that Anya Taylor-Doy Got it? For sure. Leah Michelle. Yes, Leah Michelle is another one. I don't know. If she did, she had it placed on the tops of her cheeks. Right. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Like a lot of it. I don't know. Have you seen anybody get that buckle fat removal and go, that looks good? Or that looks good? No.

00:56:14 - 00:56:14 | Unknown:

Right?

00:56:14 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 3:

No. Right? No. Do you know what that is, Spike? It's like they send out the fat right here under your cheekbone so that your cheekbones are more prominent.

00:56:21 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I have seen that. It always looks goofy to me. I saw people joking.

00:56:25 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 3:

It's like you're doing, like this, like a picture face all the time.

00:56:28 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

The meme of the new Barney, the animated Barney that's coming back. Everybody's saying, looks like Barney had that buttercup.

00:56:33 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, a story on that?

00:56:34 - 00:56:34 | Unknown:

I'm sorry.

00:56:35 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 3:

Doja Cat has been hanging out on Twitch and entertaining people who are watching her play a game called Power Wash Simulator, which power washing, let's be honest, is very satisfying. There's actually like a game where you can use a spray power washer to clean various things.

00:56:55 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 1:

Let me get this grime off the sidewalk. You know what I mean? Drunk in love. We be all night. Beyonce loves you. And honestly, as Beyonce, I have to say, I did such a good job on Power Wash. I love Power Wash. I play it all the time.

00:57:18 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

00:57:45 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. As you head to work or school, thank you for being here with us. How was Lucy's birthday over the weekend? Did she have a good birthday?

00:57:54 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 3:

It was good, yeah. We had a little party for her girlfriends on Thursday. And then on Friday, Andrew and I took her out to dinner. And then we celebrated with my family on Saturday morning. Wow. So it was like a lot of birthday. We are. I am birthdayed out.

00:58:09 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 2:

You know what I realized? I wish my parents were divorced. Because when you get divorced parents, you get multiple Christmases, Easter's, birthday parties. I know. Just like the best. Did she also have a party then with you doing the party with your family? Did she also have a party with Andrew's family? Yesterday morning.

00:58:28 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 3:

She did breakfast with my family on Saturday and breakfast with Andrew's family yesterday. So a girlfriend had four days of birthday.

00:58:33 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 2:

Don't feel bad for any kid who comes from divorce. Those kids are making out. They're doing all right.

00:58:38 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It was so funny, though. Like, one, I still can't believe she's eight. And thank you to all of the listeners who reached out and made me cry like a baby over the weekend saying, I remember when you announced you were pregnant with her on the show. And I'm like, yeah, me too. I mean, that feels like yesterday and now I have an eight-year-old. It's just, it's crazy. Mike, you know this. You look at Cecily and you're like, where did time go? Holy crap. She also got off the bus on Friday and this made me feel a certain way. And she was like, mom, we need to talk. I have something to tell you. And I thought, uh-oh, what happened? And she's like, I am so embarrassed because my armpits smell like yours. And I said, what do you mean? And she's like, they stink. My armpits stink. I think I need to use deodorant. And I thought she was being dramatic in true Lucy Grace fashion. But I sniffed her pits and like her mama, she has an overactive right armpit that stinks. Yep.

00:59:39 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

I remember when my kids first got body odor. And nobody ever Oh yeah it was had to be like around that time Nobody Well I mean maybe it was a little bit later I don't remember but all I remember is You never wanted to be the stinky kid in class So you never wanted that to happen

00:59:56 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 3:

And she already has smelly feet like I've talked about this I really have to like convince her to wear stocks so she's not the smelly feet kid and now I don't want her to be the smelly armpit kid so I showed her like where am I I have like all-natural

01:00:08 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 2:

deodorant and I go if you just want to don't do the all-natural stuff you know

01:00:17 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 3:

finally remember when I was doing all the trials and you guys were like Shannon please stop listen I'm gonna throw this out there to you you ready for this one I don't know.

01:00:28 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 2:

When your kids grow up so fast, wait till your kids have to start shaving or they want to start shaving.

01:00:35 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I know. My mom wouldn't let me.

01:00:37 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

That's the one. Well, you know what? And my mom didn't let me either until the school called her up and said, your son looks like he's got a full on beard. I had like almost a full. You see what I look like nowadays? When I was in school in the sixth grade, I had a beard. Really? I swear, swear, hand to God. And the funniest was, I remember the first, so my kids, so my kids don't have that from me. They got Chelsea's hair from her, which bothers them because they, because if you, if you really want to make fun of Joe, who hosts the Joe show, call him up and tell him that he has no connectors on his beard. It drives him crazy. Oh my gosh. It's like the, it's the worst feeling in the world for this poor guy.

01:01:21 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 3:

Why would you tell the public this?

01:01:22 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 2:

I had the best connectors ever and I still do. Look at this full beard.

01:01:26 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 3:

You're such a mean dad.

01:01:28 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 2:

I know, it's bad. Oh, my God. I know.

01:01:31 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 3:

I was like Lucy's age, though, when I started shaving. Really? Yeah. That's really young. Did you dance or do gymnastics? I did gymnastics. I did ballet. You were the girls that started first. Yeah. I can remember sitting in gym class at Groceal Middle School in seventh grade in my pink Umbro shorts and looking at the girl's legs next to me and they were smooth and my legs that the hairy black Italian like hair and I went home and asked my mom and she was like no you're too young you don't have you don't get to shave until you're in high school.

01:02:05 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 2:

Dude I had a small child's head underneath my armpits. I played basketball I had to be like I used to call it I used to I was Patrick Ewing because he was the first player I ever saw that wore an undershirt underneath his jersey. I was Patrick Ewing having to wear an undershirt underneath my jersey because my armpit hair was so fierce.

01:02:25 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 3:

And then did you get the yellow pit stains because you had the t-shirt?

01:02:28 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I had yellow pit stains all the time because I definitely, I was a sweater. I was bad. I'm Cubano, man. I sweat like I'm in Havana. Havana, banana. The other funny thing, I'm going to tell you the other funny thing is when you're a kid that is that age, okay, and you're hanging out with all your buddies who are like little tiny guys. Right. And you're like a foot and a half taller than them. You go up to 7-Eleven to go get Slurpees, and they say, hey, your kid's one. That's what happened with me. A pack of cigarettes. I'm hanging out with Brian and Brad. We're walking up to 7-Eleven, and these guys are, like, coming up to hear on me. I got a full-on beard and armpit hair that's coming out. And Brian and Brad are, like, looking like they're my kids. They're like, Dad, you pay. And nothing's changed because Reese posted that picture of you and I at a Tigers game, and everybody thought it was a father-son photo.

01:03:28 - 01:03:29 | Unknown:

Exactly.

01:03:30 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

That's what it's like. Oh, my gosh. Okay, so here's the question. I throw this out there to kids that are going to school and stuff like that. What's the earliest that you had to shave or put deodorant on? Are there any parents that had to go earlier?

01:03:45 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Or wear a bra, like an actual bra would be another milestone one.

01:03:49 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, I know. Didn't you say that Lucy wanted to wear a bra?

01:03:52 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, so she, at Christmas time, wanted me to buy her little sports bras, basically, which they sell for her age. But remember, I told you, Dad was, whew, I got in major trouble for that one.

01:04:03 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't want your kid growing up so fast.

01:04:04 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I get it. So I bought her a couple more since then.

01:04:09 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

You're a little feisty with the ex, aren't you, these days? Kind of like it. Just keep him at my house. Look at that. Jill, what's going on, Jill? What did you have to do?

01:04:19 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 1:

At eight years old, I started my period. Did you? Wow. Oh, you, yeah. Really? Yeah, yeah. And I didn't even know. I mean, like, my mom was doing laundry and came to me and was all upset and concerned and is everything okay? I think if I think back to it now, like I saw it, but just kind of blocked it like, oh, I don't know what that is, you know?

01:04:41 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, because by that time, you don't even, we didn't even learn about it until fourth grade. Fourth and fifth grade.

01:04:48 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what is the age that you start usually normally getting your period?

01:04:52 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I got mine in seventh grade, which... I was going to say sixth or seventh.

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it seems like now the kids get even earlier.

01:04:59 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

They're such a range.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 7:

There really is.

01:05:01 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Some kids start eight, and I wasn't in, I mean, I was in high school when I started mine.

01:05:05 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, one of my best girlfriends didn't get hers until senior year. She was real late.

01:05:10 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 4:

And what's so traumatic is so many parents fail to talk to their daughter before it happens. So it's such a, you know, at the moment, you're like, oh my gosh, because you haven't had that talk yet.

01:05:19 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 6:

I have a friend that always says, it's the hormones in the food. Don't I tell you that stuff? And it could be.

01:05:25 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 2:

I actually kind of, yeah, I believe that. I believe it. Yeah.

01:05:29 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 6:

Thank you for the call, Jill. I appreciate that.

01:05:32 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:05:33 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 6:

Some of the texters here. Look at this. I started wearing deodorant when I was in the fourth grade. A lot of people saying that. I was eight years old. I was wearing deodorant, same as Lucy. That's from 810 saying that. A couple other texters here. Same thing. Mojo had to shave when I was in the seventh grade. What's happening? Autumn, hi.

01:05:56 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey. hey, I wanted to bring up this book that came out when I was younger. It was about, like, going through puberty. And just like the last caller, I hit puberty when I was, like, eight. So I had to read this book. And the girl in it actually went to 7-Eleven, like you said. And they were like, you're not a kid. You can't have that. You look too grown. And it, like, shaped me into who I am now. And it's, like, crazy that I still remember that.

01:06:20 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 6:

And what was the book called?

01:06:22 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 2:

Is it the American Girl one? No, it was more keeping a view as the American Girl.

01:06:26 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 6:

Yes, yeah.

01:06:28 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 2:

That's exactly what it was. Yeah.

01:06:31 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 6:

Joe, what's up?

01:06:34 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 7:

So I was in middle school, and I was like the only one with a full beard. Yeah. Like me? I had a full-ass beard. It was at least a couple inches long, whereas everyone else was clean-shaven. Yeah. Like baby face.

01:06:51 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 6:

Dude, I'm telling you, it was wild All of a sudden you turn around in class to go talk to your teacher And they're like, oh, who is this guy? Yeah Would you be able to keep it? Because I went to a Catholic school We were now allowed to have it

01:07:05 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 7:

I actually was able to keep it And I had to keep it shaven But after a while, I was like, nah I shaved it for a while I'm just like, I don't care

01:07:17 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 6:

Now you're a beard man Now you've got a good one What's up, Liz?

01:07:21 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi, me and my sisters had to have three black hairs in our armpits before we were allowed to shave.

01:07:27 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 6:

That was the rules from mom.

01:07:30 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

01:07:31 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 5:

Love it. Thank you for the call. When somebody tells you that you smell good, but it's just hand sanitizer, just own it. It's time for an official government survey. It's Mojo in the Morning Senseless Survey.

01:07:46 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 4:

My name is Mr. Dabalina. I'm calling from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. We got your census back, the form that you sent to us in the mail. Yeah, the back page wasn't filled out. There's three questions that aren't filled out in the back. Just wondering, of all the vegetables, do you agree that celery would be the best stalker?

01:08:03 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know anything about that stuff. By the way, women are dead.

01:08:09 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, what you said. Why do they call it Applebee's when they don't serve apples or bees?

01:08:15 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea about stuff like that.

01:08:17 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Do you wash your balls when you're done golfing?

01:08:20 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't golf. The only thing I've done is run in the lobby.

01:08:24 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy. I'm sorry, say that again.

01:08:28 - 01:08:32 | Unknown:

I said the only thing I've done was be in the lobby during the war.

01:08:32 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 4:

That didn't help. And have you ever accidentally left your retainer on the lunch tray at school and threw it in the trash?

01:08:37 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm 90 years old.

01:08:39 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 4:

90 years old? That's beautiful. Well, I'm glad you're still with us. gotcha would a hamster with a top hat make you smile people yeah oh boy do you support removing president martin van buren from mount rushmore did you vote for him no does the sound of my voice make you melt makes you madder than hell

01:09:10 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 3:

I know these questions they're asking me at my age, and they're for the birds.

01:09:15 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 4:

They're for the birds? Yeah. Have you ever done any voice work in the Hollywood industry, specifically the Disney cartoons? No. No? You remind me of a duck that doesn't wear pants. I think his name was Donald.

01:09:26 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 3:

No, that was my husband's name.

01:09:28 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 4:

So you never worked with a fella named Mickey or Goofy or Pluto?

01:09:33 - 01:09:33 | Unknown:

No.

01:09:33 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 4:

So you're 90 years old, huh? Do you use a sundial, or do you have an actual watch? I gotcha I just gotta say Betty is Betty White right I loved you on uh Golden Girls

01:10:00 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 2:

Are you really? How did I know that? Because I can't be stupid. If an angel farted, what do you think it would smell like? Oh, for God's sake.

01:10:15 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 3:

You guys, 22 questions. I didn't get any of the answers. I know, I can't really understand her. I think we just talked to Charlie Brown's teacher. No.

01:10:23 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

What's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up.

01:10:32 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 1:

It's a noise. For Mojo, Mike, Shannon, for Mojo with the Mojo. mojo in the morning i have a story that i want to bring up here right now that i wanted to ask if anybody's ever had such a bad miscommunication problem with somebody and what is your bad miscommunication that you had? So about six months ago or so, a bunch of my grade school buddies all got together on a group text and said, hey, we should all do a trip together to Vegas. And we went back and forth on the text to figure out when should we do it. And it was decided that this weekend was the weekend that we were going to do a trip to vegas because that was you know group attacks then the next text came up of hey where would we want to stay and then it was like well you know these guys these people got good rates this has got a good sports book you know we kind of went back and forth on where it was going to go and that's where the tax ended so this is six months ago so what is it's july six months because it was like end of July. We never talked about it ever again. The other day, we ended up getting a text message from our buddy Tom who said, what time do you guys land in Vegas? And Tom's the only person who booked the trip to go to Vegas.

01:12:34 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

01:12:36 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 1:

It kind of fell by the wayside and nobody kind of brought it back up again.

01:12:41 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and nobody else pulled the trigger and actually booked.

01:12:44 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I really wanted to go, but I thought that everybody was kind of like, I thought, I'll be honest with you. It was semi my idea, but it was also semi Tom's. And so it came to a point where it was like, I felt like I was pressuring everybody else like to want to go on a trip together. But I thought this, you know, cool. And yeah, and I never brought it up ever. And here I am like, by the way, I sound like I am fumbling for my words trying to figure this thing out.

01:13:10 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't fault you because before they booked the flight, I would have reinvigorated that conversation and made sure, like, hey, what day is everybody flying in? Like, just touch base again. Make sure that everybody's still on board after months.

01:13:25 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 1:

Tom's going to Vegas by himself, you guys. This weekend.

01:13:30 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 4:

Nobody could book a last-minute flight.

01:13:33 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, I did look at it. It would be very expensive. I looked to see if we could do it I felt so bad I'm like, hey, is there any way you can just cancel it Before the, you know Gets to the Non-cancellation time for the hotel Because the hotel is the thing you worry about The airfare you can always use again You know, there's always ways to be able to use it again And do another trip sometime

01:13:59 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 4:

You know what this reminds me of?

01:14:03 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 1:

What's that?

01:14:05 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 4:

The family trip that I forgot to tell my sister about in the fall and she was the only one that didn't come because I forgot to tell her that we were going

01:14:15 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 1:

so what ended up happening did she ever get really salty with you guys

01:14:20 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

she didn't get salty but it's a tradition every year instead of doing Christmas gifts my mom and my or my excuse me my step mom and my dad and my sister and I just plan like a weekend up north and that's been known for the past couple of years that that's what we do i just happened to forget to tell my sister emily when the weekend was and so the the couple of days before i was like do you want to drive with me or do you want to drive with dad and she looked at me with this blank stare and said what are you what are you talking about i forgot to tell her that it was that weekend and she had plans to go out of town so she didn't come and she didn't change her plans good for her on that you know um

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 2:

Because, you know, you could feel pressure to it.

01:15:02 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:15:03 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had, like, a major, like, miscommunication? I don't know if this would be miscommunication or no communication on something like this. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I feel like this is something that would happen to us as a show, like planning something. You know what I mean? Like, we would all be, you know, hey, let's all go to lunch today. and then we would show up at the line. Actually, Mike would be the only one that would show up. It would be, that would, Mike is Tom.

01:15:34 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:15:35 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what's that?

01:15:36 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead, let him get his insult in.

01:15:37 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead, say it in. Unless I ride with Spike. And then you'll go to the wrong restaurant? Is that what you're saying?

01:15:42 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 1:

I got you there eventually. I would be the only one, but I'm like,

01:15:46 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 2:

if I was the only one going to Vegas,

01:15:48 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 1:

I might be okay with it.

01:15:49 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 2:

Would you go, wait, would you go to Vegas by yourself? I wouldn't want to necessarily, but. Oh, I would. I would be afraid. Why? Because there's so much craziness that could happen in Vegas. And I'm not saying you'd get involved in that craziness, but the potential. Listen to this text message. It says, can't call, but Tom's wife is going to think he's a cheater when she finds out that the other guys aren't going.

01:16:14 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

01:16:15 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

She's going to think that the guys are trying to cover for him. That's so true.

01:16:20 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 3:

I would be so suspicious, right? Would it, Chelsea?

01:16:23 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Absolutely. 734 says, Tom should say he has COVID to get out of his trip and not have to pay any fees. It goes back to what we were talking about last week. It's like COVID karma. You got to be careful of that. But Alex, what's up? We're talking about people who go on solo trips to, of all places, Vegas. You do this all the time?

01:16:47 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 4:

I do. I actually work for a major airline. So day trips, weekend trips, and actually Vegas is really cheap to stay.

01:16:59 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the room, there's so many rooms, right?

01:17:02 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you usually stay at one of the MTM properties and sometimes you can find them for like 40 bucks.

01:17:08 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 2:

So you don't worry about being a woman, I don't know if you're a single woman, but a single woman by yourself, like being a lone traveler there?

01:17:20 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 4:

um no actually Vegas I feel pretty safe Vegas and Miami um Miami oh my god now now I think

01:17:29 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 2:

you're crazy I would not I wouldn't go to Miami with my family and feel safe

01:17:33 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 4:

I actually do a lot and really both of both places um usually I would say like downtown or something where there is large crowds yeah um and then I usually pay like I'm not a huge clubber but um i will do like pay for the cabana all day and just eat and drink in the sun or um just treat myself to some good food yeah and then listen um yeah it's easy to stay and like um hostels are popular now hostels that's kind of like yeah it's kind of like summer camp

01:18:08 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 2:

for adults yeah i think you are uh you're scaring me uh let me where's your father at I would like to be your father right now.

01:18:17 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 4:

He works for my competitor, Airlines, so he's the one that tells me everything.

01:18:22 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 2:

You tell dad that he needs to watch out over you. I legit would make sure that you had your phone's GPS on at all times, so I knew exactly where you were.

01:18:37 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 4:

I definitely do, and he's got a strict rule about leaving the country.

01:18:41 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm not trying to just put this out there, but it is out there. These crazies out there that are putting Apple AirTags on girls and all that stuff. I mean, I'm worried about that with my wife, you know, being here in my company. But I would never want her to be going anywhere by herself. So, all right, Alex, thank you so much. We appreciate that.

01:19:04 - 01:19:05 | Unknown:

Thanks, guys.

01:19:05 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 2:

All right, take care of yourself.

01:19:06 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 1:

Every man has the right to be ugly, but Mojo is abusing the privilege. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:16 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I want to hear about this, Megan. The awkward toast. So, where were you?

01:19:25 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

I have secondhand embarrassment just remembering the story. Like, sometimes when I tell you guys things I want to talk about, I regret choosing this one because I'm cringing already. One of my really good friends here at work just left, right? So his last day was Friday. So some of us decided to take him out to lunch. And at the very end, because we're psychopaths, we decided to get a round of shots. Okay. All right. I can get behind that. It's been a while since I've dunked a shot.

01:20:00 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 6:

It's his last day. We love him. I was emotional. We were going to go. So we get this round of shots. And I raise my glass and give this very heartfelt toast.

01:20:12 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:20:13 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 6:

And I'm talking about how much I've appreciated him having my back at work and how great he is to be around and yadda yadda yadda. And it's just really nice. I'm proud of myself. Sometimes I think I do, in fact, have a gift of words.

01:20:26 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

Were you patting yourself on the back afterwards?

01:20:29 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 6:

Like, a little part of me was like, damn, girl, nailed it. You can't give a gift to save your life, but, girl, you're toast.

01:20:34 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 3:

The applause was going off in your head.

01:20:37 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 6:

Like, in my head, it was like. Like an Oscar speech that we talk about. You really like me? Like, it was so good. It was so good. So I'm feeling good, and I look to the person next to me. Silence. I look across to the person across from me, waiting for them to then say a toast. Silence. So I've just laid down my heart on the table, thinking that we would go around and all do this. Nope, just an awkward, like, ten, no, ten seconds seems too long, like a six-second pause, which doesn't seem like a long time. But that silence was deafening, and then everybody just went, cheers, and then talking about it.

01:21:20 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 3:

What did you say in the toast that might have gone over not the way that you thought it went over?

01:21:26 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 6:

I don't think I said anything bad. I just think I was a little too emotional for the day. Like, everybody had their bar way lower than I did. Like, for me, this was the end of an era. This was, I'm now the last person in the friend group to survive here at iHeart. And this broke my heart.

01:21:46 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. You're the last of the Rat Pack, so to speak?

01:21:51 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 6:

Yes, yes. It was just me and this guy. And we would be like, we're keeping the flame alive. Who left?

01:21:57 - 01:21:58 | Speaker 3:

Who took off?

01:21:58 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 6:

Frank left. No! Yes, my Frank leg!

01:22:03 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 3:

Did he go to New York to be with his girl?

01:22:05 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 6:

So they're not going to New York. I think they announced it. I don't think they'll be upset. They're going to Chicago.

01:22:13 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, nice. Okay. That's good. That's close. So wait a second. Can we call Frank and ask Frank about the toast and what was so awkward about the toast?

01:22:21 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 6:

I honestly think you should because I think it would be funny. I don't know if...

01:22:24 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 3:

Text me if I... Let me see if I have Frank's number. Okay, let me see. I'm looking at my phone number.

01:22:27 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 6:

Let me try to pull this up really quickly here.

01:22:29 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 3:

There, come on.

01:22:30 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 2:

Send it to me because she won't be able to hear him if we plug your phone in.

01:22:33 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's right. Okay.

01:22:34 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 6:

All right. Send it to Alan. Sharing. Share contact. Got it.

01:22:37 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:22:38 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 6:

Sending it to the group message.

01:22:38 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 3:

We're going to find out what the toast was all about.

01:22:41 - 01:22:42 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:22:42 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 6:

All right. There you go. It's... Oh, I love this. Send it to the group chat.

01:22:47 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 3:

I want to know. I want to know about this. I want to know why it was that they were so... I don't know Dumbfounded Would you say dumbfounded Or would you say that they were just like What the hell was that all about What was it

01:23:03 - 01:23:10 | Speaker 6:

I don't know but this is literally Frank's first day Not here the first thing we're doing is Calling him at 9 o'clock in the morning Hey peace

01:23:10 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 3:

We'll find out what exactly was said

01:23:18 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 5:

Was he truly concerned about Megan's mental health at this moment in the night?

01:23:24 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 6:

Probably. Night? You think night? This is 1 p.m., sir.

01:23:28 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 3:

Maybe that's the thing. Maybe a toast at 1 p.m. was

01:23:31 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 2:

lured. You can't even blame it on being tired. Right.

01:23:36 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Frank not answering? What did he do?

01:23:38 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 2:

No, but his voicemail is the song Believe It or Not, I'll rock it. Oh, my God.

01:23:44 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. I want to hear it. I love it. Greatest American Hero, right? Is that what that is? Hold on a second. So raise your glass if you don't know.

01:23:59 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 6:

Come on, Frank. Come on.

01:24:01 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 3:

Does he do the, believe it or not, Frank's not here? That's what he does?

01:24:08 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, almost word for word. Was that from SidePhoe?

01:24:12 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 3:

It's from SidePhoe. George. Frank, Frank, Frank.

01:24:20 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Frank. Believe it or not, Frank Is it at home? Oh my god, stop Stop it I'm gonna be out Or I pick up the phone Where could I be? Believe it or not I'm not home Do you understand Why I love him?

01:24:43 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 1:

When you have finished recording You may hang up or press 1 for more options

01:24:47 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 3:

Frank, it's Mojo Will you call me back? I would like to talk to you about something that involves Megan. Talk to you later.

01:24:58 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I'm trying to think of something.

01:25:00 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

to sing, weren't you?

01:25:00 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 3:

No, what I was thinking of doing it was, okay, so what would be another sitcom that I could sing? That by a stranger from The Office. Here's a story about Megan. Megan.

01:25:21 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:25:22 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 3:

Do a toast. Let's all raise our glasses. We got water and stuff here, don't we? Yeah. Toast to what? I don't know. Let's do a toast to your girl, Ellen. I don't know.

01:25:37 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, if anybody around here does toast, Jesus, Lord, it's Monday, it's Spike. I just get weirdly emotional at inappropriate times.

01:25:46 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

On St. Patrick's Day, his toasts are amazing, but I think you had that quality, too. So let's see how good you are.

01:25:52 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 1:

This is what it sounded like. If I could recreate Friday, this is what it was. You know.

01:25:56 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you were crying during the toast?

01:25:59 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 1:

Not really, but it was pretty emotional. I'm trying to get into the moment.

01:26:02 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, that's probably what they were freaking out about. Like, wow, she is really emotional about Frank leaving.

01:26:07 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 1:

Here's what the toast was. Nobody puts up with my emotional springboarding from top to bottom quite like you, Frank. Can't count the number of days I have cried in your office, but I really appreciate you just listening.

01:26:22 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 2:

That was so nice. It's not bad if it all comes out.

01:26:25 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 3:

Maybe the reason why they didn't get all excited about it is they're worried about you emotionally now that Frank's gone.

01:26:31 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 1:

Honest to God, everybody should be worried.

01:26:36 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 2:

Megan, she's the best. And don't you forget it. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:26:44 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, Joe. Good to have you guys here with us today. Do you like it when somebody is that honest with you, Spike, or do you?

01:26:53 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Do you? You get a bigger tip if this happens to me like it did this weekend. Did a server ever tell you not to order something? I was just telling Mojo how I was at a restaurant, and I won't say the name because I don't want to get anybody in trouble. But when I ordered the ahi tuna tacos, the waitress said, nope, no, don't order those. Order something else.

01:27:13 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love when they do that.

01:27:14 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, I said, oh, you're out? She said, no, you don't want to order those. You just shouldn't. And I was like, oh, okay, we don't have to say that a third time. Are they a little tuna taco-y? She eventually redirected me to the deep-fried fish and chips, you know. And so I asked her, I said, why? She wouldn't give me a reason. She just kept looking back at the counter like she wasn't supposed to be telling me this. I was like, oh, boy.

01:27:38 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 3:

See, I appreciate when they do that, too. But I also wonder sometimes how many of them are sending you the way of the more expensive item. Which one was more expensive, the tacos or the fish and chips?

01:27:52 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 2:

The fish and chips were $1 more expensive. Oh, there you go. But she didn't offer that until I started pestering her for a sub. You wanted another fishy type thing? She just told me what else do you, you know, she said you have to order something else. And I was like, oh, gosh, let me think. And I was trying to think. And I couldn't decide. I said, well, what would you get? And I think she was trying to suggest something similar.

01:28:10 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 3:

All right. I want to know, and, you know, I'm sure we have a lot of people that are in the service industry, but I want to know a lot of times, is that a ploy or are you just being really honest? Are you just, you know, given your honest opinion that you don't like certain things? I wonder, do you think that if you're a server, do you hate when people say, what would you order? Because there's a couple of times where I've had where I'll be like, well, what would you get if you were me? And I get the.

01:28:36 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, I used to love it because I knew the best thing on the menu. So I knew you would enjoy your meal and I would get a better tip.

01:28:44 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 3:

Let me guess the Red Robin burger. Whiskey ribbon.

01:28:49 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 1:

So it's not on the menu anymore, and I swear to God it was the best thing, because you wouldn't expect this, but it was a pasta dish at Red Robin, and it was the Southwest chicken pasta thing. Like, it was a spicy pasta that was so good. That sounds delicious. But nobody goes to Red Robin for pasta. Yeah.

01:29:06 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 3:

And so you would always turn people towards pasta, and they probably thought to themselves, this is a burger place.

01:29:12 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 1:

But it was a huge portion. It was cheap, and it was delicious. So people were always super happy.

01:29:18 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, I specifically saved this topic for today because I want to hear from servers, too. Like, you know, I know people have also been told this, like me, where they said, oh, don't order that. But I know Monday is usually industry night where a lot of restaurants have off. So I thought maybe more servers will be up this morning to be able to participate. Have you ever told someone not to order something? And what's the reason?

01:29:40 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 1:

And did they just order it anyway?

01:29:42 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:29:42 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't that be such a slap in the face?

01:29:44 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

She didn't have to tell me twice because the way she said it, I was like, oh, to me it sounded like you're going to get food poised. you said she directed you in another well not no not initially she just said order something else and i was like oh i don't know what and she and she's like well you know anything else but don't get those

01:30:00 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 3:

And then I said, well, what should I get? And then I think she wanted to wrap me up. So then she suggested, well, if you want the fish instead of the ahi tacos, why don't you get the fish and chips?

01:30:09 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I think Mojo's right onto something. I think they have to sell something sometimes. Like sometimes they have to just get rid of stuff. So they're told to sell like certain things on the menu.

01:30:18 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 4:

Like it's special time.

01:30:19 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 3:

It's time to get the special off the menu. Normally I'd be more suspicious, but she didn't push that item at first.

01:30:25 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Sean, what's up?

01:30:27 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how's it going?

01:30:28 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on?

01:30:30 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Uh, so I used to be a server for like eight to 10 years or something like that. And I used to always be honest with my customers. Like if a cook was working that I didn't think was the greatest cook, I'd let them know like, Hey, I wouldn't order that. I would order something from the other side of the kitchen or, um, anything like that. Um, I would never usually suggest the more expensive just cause like I know how that would seem. So I would try to go similar price or similar option.

01:30:57 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 4:

See, I appreciate that. I like, by the way, that there are certain chefs that did bad jobs with certain items. Would you actually say to them, hey, we got a bad chef in there, you don't want that? Get the, what is it, the Impossible Burger, because all he does is throw it on the grill. That's all you want today. What's up, Ange?

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how are you?

01:31:20 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 4:

Good, what's going on? What did you say?

01:31:22 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, most restaurants don't get their specials because it's their leftover stuff. That they can't sell. Yep.

01:31:31 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 1:

I learned that from Anthony Bourdain's book.

01:31:33 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:31:33 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

Never order the special.

01:31:35 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 4:

So if they have a special, that's something that the night before they couldn't sell?

01:31:38 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 6:

They're trying to get rid of. No, that they've had all week that they can't sell. So it's like, ooh, specials. Everybody's like, oh, it's like something that they just whipped up. Spent all week there that's been in their fridge.

01:31:52 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 4:

I did not know that.

01:31:53 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 6:

Don't get it.

01:31:54 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 4:

Don't get the specials.

01:31:56 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, your belly will be ripped up.

01:32:00 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 4:

Aja Doe. What's going on, Alicia?

01:32:05 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Yeah, so I was a restaurant server for 10 years, and the reason we tell you not to get something is because it's bad. 15 people sent it back before, probably more than that, and truly we just don't want you to be unsatisfied and that gets taken out on us because you don't like your meal, and it turns into a bad experience. And we're just like, hey, they don't like it. Probably most people won't like it.

01:32:31 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 4:

What if your managers or the chef hears about you doing this? Would you get in trouble?

01:32:38 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 7:

I don't think so. No, I mean, they want the guest happy too, right?

01:32:42 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but then they got all these items still there.

01:32:44 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

It's funny. She kind of looked over her shoulder when she said it to me. She wasn't supposed to be downplaying an item.

01:32:50 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 4:

I talked to a friend that gave me a couple pieces of advice. and my friend's a seafood guy, and one piece of advice I'm going to share with you guys. It says never eat at a sushi restaurant on a Sunday because they haven't had fish delivered to them for a couple of days in whatever you're eating. And that was one of the things that he said. And then the other thing that he said was that if you are going to order on the menu, and you know how there's the choice of the two types of steaks, Like, one's an 8-ounce and the other one's a 10-ounce or whatever. He says, always get the 8-ounce because guess what? The 8-ounce is about the same as the 10-ounce. So he said steak-wise that that was a big deal. And he was the guy that supplied a lot of these restaurants with their food. What's going on, Molly? Hi. Good morning. Hey, what's going on? You're a bartender. So does this apply with bartenders? Do you tell people not to order certain drinks?

01:33:46 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Okay. So I used to be a bartender when I was in college. and my bar was, like, known for having 74 mixed shots. So people would always ask for recommendations and try and complete all the shots. But sometimes people would ask, like, oh, should I take this shot? I'd be like, no, don't do it. That one's really strong, and it's definitely going to mess you up. And people wouldn't listen, and they'd take the shot and literally throw up right there at the bar.

01:34:10 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 3:

So annoying. And you're like, you even asked me. I told you not to take it.

01:34:14 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and then I had to clean it up.

01:34:16 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 4:

Right. Quick question for you, and this one's from my friend, Tim McCormick. How many gentlemen over the age of 40 have you ever seen order a Long Island iced tea? Tell me.

01:34:28 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 8:

Not very much.

01:34:29 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 4:

0.0, unless Tim McCormick comes in. And then you know he's going to order one. I give him crap all the time. He's the only guy over 40 years old that orders Long Island iced teas. That's usually, isn't it, just a college drink you have?

01:34:43 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's to get you wasted. It's got six or seven different alcohols in it. You're home with the phone scams.

01:34:49 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 4:

War of the Roses. And the Dirty of the 30s.

01:35:46 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 2:

Start off with an update on the toxic train disaster. Fallout residents in East Palestine, Ohio, are reporting all sorts of health issues, rashes, headaches. This is two weeks after that massive toxic chemical explosion happened following the train through railman. Residents are also reporting dead chickens and pets. Dead fish are washing up in the local streams and creeks and rivers. This is East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway talking about how he's livid that President Joe Biden visited Ukraine yesterday, but didn't come to see the latest with what's going on in his town.

01:36:22 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. That was the biggest slap in the face. That tells you right now he doesn't care about us. So he can send every agency he wants to. But I found that out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in the Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us. And I'm furious on President's Day in our country. Yeah, President's Day in our country. He's he's over in Ukraine.

01:36:43 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 2:

So that tells you what kind of guy is Nashville actress Hayden Panettiere's brother, Jensen, Jensen, excuse me, Panettiere has died. He was just 28 years old, so young, and he, like his sister, was an actor. He appeared in shows like even Stevens, Blue's Clues, Robots, Ice Age. He also had a recurring role as Truman X in Nickelodeon's The Exes, did several Disney Channel and Nickelodeon original movies. But Jansen died over the weekend in New York, and his cause of death is currently unclear. I do know he suffered from some pretty debilitating depression and anxiety. There was no foul play suspected in his death. Avril Lavigne and Tyga have been getting really comfortable around each other. And fans are going, what's happening here? Yeah, this is evidenced in some new photos going around of them grabbing dinner at Celeb Hotspot Nobu on Sunday night. And everybody there said, oh, they were totally hitting it off. They were hugging it out after dinner in the parking lot as if to say goodbye, but left together in the same car. So, sources close to both Avril and Tyga say yes, they have been hanging out together a lot lately, but nobody will say if it's romantic or if they're just friends. Pink was doing an interview and talking about all of her different music videos over the years. And when focused specifically on this song, 2001's Lady Marmalade, which also featured Christina Aguilera, Maya, Lil' Kim, Pink's comment was, it wasn't very fun to make.

01:38:24 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, there's Lady Marmalade. It wasn't very fun to make. I'm all about fun. And it was like a lot of fuss. And there were some personalities. Kim and Maya were nice. Oh.

01:38:37 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 2:

Is anybody shocked by this, though?

01:38:42 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 4:

Not at that time. We heard a lot about early Christina Aguilera at that time.

01:38:47 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 2:

As soon as I heard this, I went, oh, shocking. But not at all. And Kate's response to somebody was, I kissed Xtina's mouth. I don't need to kiss her ass. I was like, oh. Come on. That was so telling. And lastly, there's a TikTok influencer named Ashley Leachin, as I believe how you pronounce her last name, who calls herself a Taylor Swift look-alike. Okay. She has over 1 million followers on TikTok, but some Taylor Swift fans are attacking her for being a pathological liar. Swifties believe she has centered her entire life around looking and acting like Taylor. So this girl is now firing back against her critics with a detailed petition headlined, Petition to Stop False Defamation. She proceeds to list 18 bullet points, denying, among numerous accusations, that she's had plastic surgery in an attempt to look more like Taylor. She wrote, my teeth are not exactly the same as Taylor's, guys. She even responded to attacks on her character and claims that she tries to imitate Taylor's life, even going so far as to mimic the way that Taylor Swift holds her pens. She said, I hold my pen in such a matter that brings... Comfort, which releases direct pressure off the median nerve. I mean, this girlfriend is getting real specific. She said, some Swifties can be very cruel, randomly bullying. I feel like Taylor Swift would not condone this type of behavior. Just a heads up all this week in the 930 Dirty. Mojo in the morning. Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM. mike is uh is this an appropriate topic for people to listen to with their children i don't think so okay so maybe turn maybe here this is what i always say make your kids jump out of the car and just stand there for a little bit while you listen to this in your car yeah just pull over safely let them out or what what else if you're listening on the iheart radio app throw some headphones in yeah that's not a bad idea too yeah that's why you should always have things in your car that you can actually distract your children with like headphones and ipads and stuff like that for when the mojo in the morning show

01:41:26 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 4:

gets a little inappropriate uh what's going on so my wife and i uh were sitting watching tv a couple of weekends ago and we're talking about like well we've started this new thing where we see stuff on tv shows or in movies and we're like you know what that would be hot if you did that

01:41:44 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, like like is this like what you're talking about the other day when you were talking about how Yellowstone is like your new show that you guys are watching? Yes. And you guys like dress up as cowboys and stuff.

01:41:56 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, we just start going like, hey, it would be sexy if you did that. So, for example, it's funny you mentioned Yellowstone. Yellowstone is one of her turn on. It's like she thinks that it would look sexy if I dressed up as a cowboy. We also watch the Batman movie. And, you know, that scene where he like walks away from a car and there's a big explosion. she looks over at me during the movie and she goes that is sexy and I have no idea why she's like it would be so sexy if you were dressed and she was we were just talking about random things that would turn us on she was like it would be sexy if you dressed up as a cowboy and you're walking slowly in front of a giant explosion and I'm like are you serious she's like yeah I don't know why

01:42:31 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 5:

boy this role playing is getting into a whole new level yeah there's production value into it now

01:42:35 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 4:

but she's like what is your thing so like every now and then I'll find something i'll go oh my god i don't know why but i think that's sexy an example is uh have you ever watched schitt's creek the the show schitt's creek yeah so alexa in schitt's creek the way that she talks i don't know how to explain what it is i don't know the i'm sure there's something to it like what it's called something but that or like a drunk girl voice to me for some reason. It's the sexiest thing in the entire world.

01:43:08 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 5:

You're turned on by the way she talks?

01:43:11 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so my wife will do it. She'll walk around the house and do the voice. In fact, I don't know if she's at work yet, but you could call her.

01:43:16 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we should call Allie. We should definitely do this.

01:43:19 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 4:

She'll do exactly what I'm talking about. I love it.

01:43:22 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 2:

That turns you on.

01:43:26 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 4:

When she does it, yeah.

01:43:28 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Not when Spike does it. But I bet you if somebody else on a TV show did it, you wouldn't be turned on. It's also because

01:43:34 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 4:

she's cute maybe yeah uh maybe but i oh like we i mean possibly yeah but we keep like it's things though that i want her to do you know what i mean yeah how does that explain my attraction to moira rose then i don't know thank you mojo for the sympathy laugh hey we love it no i love her i love her um but don't you guys have things that you find like attractive that no like not everybody

01:44:00 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 3:

finds attractive no um well no i think well i think the role-playing thing like i i went home after the show the other day when we were talking about the yellowstone thing and i said to chelsea i go i want to tell you i wish that we had a little bit more of what mike and ally have in their relationship where they role play like that until and chelsea goes well at christmas time we both got the cowboy hats and stuff like that and i said yeah and i was like thinking and she goes That was your role playing. But I like that you guys do this. Like, I like, there are a lot of people that do this, like, where they'll see something in a movie or they'll see something on TV, on a TV show, and it is something that turns them on, that they'll convince their spouse. And I'm not talking about porn, because porn's probably a big thing that people do. I'm just wondering if, like, people do it in regular stuff. You know what you should do, by the way? This is a little inside radio thing, but, you know, we make videos and stuff at the station all the time, and we have, like, the green screen. screens that you know where you get in front of the green screen you can put pretty much anything behind you we should have reese do the explosion scene behind you and you just get a picture of

01:45:08 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 4:

that for uh ally yeah slow motion well i gotta be slow motion walking i gotta get a cowboy hat

01:45:13 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 3:

and and yeah and walking away from the thing yes or we get you on a horse and we have the backdrop be Yellowstone. We're going to... And Mike dress up as Rip from Yellowstone. I love it. Gotta get a car

01:45:31 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 4:

big car hat or coat. We're going to North Carolina at the end of the month. We could do that. Are you bringing the kids with you? Well, I mean, yeah.

01:45:40 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 3:

Where do you put the kids at that point? You got somebody to babysit them?

01:45:43 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, we're going with the whole family. Yeah, there's a lot of people going.

01:45:47 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, my God, that's going to be funny. You guys are packing up the car to go on this vacation and people are going to be like why do you have chaps in a cowboy rick what's happening it's mojo in the morning show hey good morning how you doing we're good

01:46:01 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 1:

man what's going on well we my wife and i started watching outlander um and um she liked it and so that helped me like it and um i decided to buy some outfits so i bought her a claire outfit i

01:46:20 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 3:

bought me a jamie outfit and um i've never watched outlander can you explain to me what what is it

01:46:26 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 1:

it's a it's like a time um it's very sexy time um show where people from the 50s and 60s are gone back into time and Claire meets a new guy there

01:46:40 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 3:

you guys are dressing up in the same outfits that they're dressing up on the show and you guys actually will do this like in the bedroom

01:46:50 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 1:

yeah in the bedroom we do that do you have children we do but our children we've been married 37 years so they're out of the house

01:47:02 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 3:

mom and dad are grown what happens if they come over unannounced and they see mom and dad dressed up?

01:47:13 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 1:

We don't. I have cameras all over the place. Okay.

01:47:18 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 4:

It's time time. We just go back in time. It doesn't happen.

01:47:22 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 5:

Allie, we got to hear this voice.

01:47:25 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 4:

Allie.

01:47:26 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 5:

I have Stephanie in the car right now. She doesn't know why you're doing it.

01:47:33 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 3:

Talk about what is

01:47:34 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

her on her lunch menu today what'd you pack for lunch as that character um so like i pack some chicken and you know i always have to have some gum because you know afterwards you brought smells and so i brought some gum and totally had to bring my cauliflower rice because you know it's

01:47:54 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 4:

really good for you so give me a lunch give me the ew do ew michael oh so that makes mike that get you going? Yeah, I don't know why. I get real shy.

01:48:09 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 5:

Listen to him. What the heck? There's some issues.

01:48:13 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 4:

There's some issues there.

01:48:16 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 3:

Which one do you like better? Do you like that or do you like the Yellowstone whole cowboy thing? Do you like the Schitt's Creek or the Yellowstone? Are you asking me? Both of you guys. I like the

01:48:28 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 4:

voice better. Do you? Allie likes the Yellowstone with the slow-motion walk in front of a giant explosion.

01:48:38 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when this last all happened was when couples were watching Game of Thrones together, and everybody was so turned on by the costumes, the characters, and everybody was thinking like, oh, wear that for Halloween and then wear it later for me.

01:48:52 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:48:53 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think that you guys got to remember this, by the way, for Halloween if you don't do it sooner. Mike said that he's going to try to do this, I guess, on your guys' vacation that you guys are doing to the Carolinas.

01:49:05 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. That's new to me. Do you imagine me riding a horse, though, with a cowboy hat, just a big old cowboy hat? Mm-mm. Big old beard.

01:49:14 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 5:

Don't say that right now. I am dropping your daughter off to school.

01:49:21 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 3:

Bye, Allie. We'll talk to you later.

01:49:24 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 6:

See you. Bye.

01:49:25 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 3:

See you. What's up, Monica?

01:49:26 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so I just wanted to comment on what you guys are talking about Because my husband comes home from work every day And tells me about the guy that works on the line next to him And he's like in his 60s And him and his wife like to dress up as Batman and Robin And sometimes he'll wear the outfit under his clothes So when he goes home, he's like ready for his wife And he talks to his wife Oh my gosh, stop

01:49:52 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Wow That's beautiful I like this one here. Is it Aura?

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hey, Ora, tell everybody about your mom and your stepdad.

01:50:06 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 3:

So my mom used to have a really big thing for Tarzan and would make my stepdad dress up like Tarzan and be like, come here, jungle boy. He'd have to do the whole Tarzan jungle call. And they had a really fun time with that one.

01:50:23 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 1:

How did you know they were doing this? Did you walk in and they were dressed up in these costumes one day?

01:50:30 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 3:

No, I wasn't quite that fortunate. My mom was just pretty open about, you know, what she was doing. I wasn't that fortunate.

01:50:37 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Arielle. Hi. Hey, what do you and your husband do?

01:50:45 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 2:

So my husband always says that it's not fair that the guys don't have something sexy to wear. So one day I surprised him. He used to be in wrestling in high school. So I got him one of the wrestling singlets. And then when I came out of the bathroom, I was also wearing a wrestling suit. Oh, my gosh. What was his reaction? He thought it was the funniest thing, but he was like, also, that's really hot.

01:51:10 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 1:

Wife of the year. Let's give her wife of the year for doing something like that. I bet you the neighbors could hear the wrestling match that happened after that.

01:51:19 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 4:

When all you want is to be left alone, but also get constant attention, is that too much to ask?

01:51:23 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Time now on Mojo in the Morning for breakup or makeup. Give a little advice here. JC is on with us right now. So we got JC who's dating Jack, which is actually kind of interesting because you guys have like a perfect situation if you guys ever should keep your relationship going for a long time because you got JC and Jack. It's like the perfect names for each other. But the problem is you are, after dating for a while now, starting to feel like this relationship is going through a little bit of a struggle.

01:52:03 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. So we have been together and dating for about a year. And he really is an amazing guy. So it saddens me to say this. But I just don't think he's for me because he seems to have absolutely no friends or life of his own. and it's just becoming more and more of an issue the longer that we're together. He literally, I mean, if I'm going somewhere, it's like I'll come and meet you. If I'm doing anything with my group of people, he joins, which would not necessarily be a problem if he had his own group of friends every now and again, but I literally, in the year we've been seeing one another, I've never seen him.

01:52:46 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 1:

And it's always been this way, or is it just recent because of the times?

01:52:50 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

It has always been this way, And that's why it's becoming more of a concern. I've been very patient. And over the course of the year, I've just been observant. And, you know, when we hit the three-month mark, I noticed it. But I was like, okay, well, maybe it's just honeymoon phase. We're really enjoying one another's company. He enjoys being with me. That's not – obviously, that's not a bad thing. But then we got to six months, and I was just like, hmm. And by nine months, I was really concerned. And now we're at a year, and it just seems like this is how it's going to be.

01:53:17 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 1:

But, JC, do you think that he has friends and he's just kind of blown them off for you? Because sometimes you do that from time to time. Guys and girls do that when they get into a relationship because they start really loving being around the person that they're dating.

01:53:34 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 4:

Maybe, but, I mean, for me to not see anyone, I mean, not even once in a year has he just went to go spend time with his buddies and been gone all day. I mean, he's always under me.

01:53:47 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 1:

He's always with you. And what do your friends think when he's always trying to be with you?

01:53:52 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 4:

Always. Always. It's the strangest thing. I know.

01:53:55 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 1:

What do your friends think when he's always trying to be around you? Have your friends made any comments?

01:54:00 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 4:

They're starting to notice it as well. Again, when it was three, six months, no one said anything. But when it started to get towards the latter part of our relationship, I had one of my girlfriends that I'm particularly close with. So I guess she felt comfortable to just say, like, what's going on? He seems that we literally can't go anywhere anymore. without him coming and it's just really strange he's a really lovely guy he's so sweet but he just

01:54:23 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 1:

he's always with me okay so 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is this unhealthy to have somebody that always wants to be with you and doesn't or doesn't have friends is it bad to date somebody that doesn't have a lot of friends jack is uh agreed to go on the air with us jack you're you're okay with that uh yeah yeah hi so you were just listening uh to your girlfriend uh telling us that this uh and is there truth to that do you do you have other friends well yeah yeah i actually

01:54:58 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 2:

have a lot of friends to be honest

01:55:00 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm a little surprised, but, you know, the thing is, you know, I'm at the age now where, like, most of my friends, they're, like, getting married, and they're having kids, and all my buddies, you know what I mean? They're, like, they're literally on a first kid or a second kid or something like that, and they're getting married, and they kind of don't have time for me.

01:55:27 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 1:

But you can always make time. That time is so important to spend with your friends. So in the length of time that you've been in a relationship, you haven't even had like a get-together or a guys' night one time. I mean, I feel like that's a little bit of a red flag. It's a big red flag.

01:55:45 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, the thing is, I mean, honestly, I met her in a transitional period of time, and all my friends are literally married.

01:55:56 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 3:

So are you saying your friends can't get together with you? It's not that you don't want to be with your friends. It's just that your friends.

01:56:03 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 4:

I've actually hit up. I got two of my good friends. They just had a baby. I don't know if any of you all have.

01:56:10 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 3:

No, there's definitely. No, we have kids. Yeah, there's changes in your. You kind of go through changes.

01:56:15 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 4:

It's like, hey.

01:56:15 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

Have you thought about going to make new friends then?

01:56:19 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, I just never. The thing is, we got into each other, and I just kind of rolled with it. And, you know, I didn't know it was a problem, but it's not like to get that at all night. Well, you've got to get space.

01:56:31 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's important you have time apart. In any relationship, you need to have your own life as well. And maybe if you don't have any friends to hang out with, it shouldn't hinder her from being able to go out to their girlfriends without you tagging on. It's important she has her girl time, too.

01:56:45 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 3:

I like, by the way, some of these texts that are coming in here. 734 says, I think it's fine. My fiancee just met my best friend after us being together for two years. Another person here says, 516 says, get him a PlayStation. So he has something to do. He doesn't want to be with him.

01:57:05 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 1:

And you're finding another problem.

01:57:07 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 3:

And then there's a couple of texters here right now that are saying that, Jack, you got to go meet some friends. They're saying, hey, this girl's guy needs to go find some friends. It's not healthy for him to always want to be around her. What happens if something happens to their relationship? He's going to have nobody to be around.

01:57:25 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 1:

Plus, I just feel like you always need people around you to challenge you and inspire you and just to have fun with. And you laughed when you said maybe you need some new friends, Mojo. Yeah. But, like, perhaps there's something to that. Like, if you, Jack, are the one that constantly feels like you're pursuing and you're the only one that is trying to get everybody to get together and spend time with one another, that's a huge issue.

01:57:47 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you know who needs a friend? um and we can say ellen from our show uh jc are you okay with uh jack being friends with uh with a uh an attractive 20 uh something um i'm not sure about that no ellen didn't you say that you're looking for a friend hold on we might have a we might have a possibility of a of a friendship for you jack you might want to do this buddy and then you'll see jc wanting you to hang out as much as possible. Isn't that right that you were looking for a friend? I'm looking for many friends. I only have guy friends, so usually I'm looking for some girlfriends coming out. Okay, well, JC, that's, I guess, not going to work in your situation. So, we need to find, if there's anybody that's listening, that's a girl that wants to be friends with Ellen. Hi, is your name really Can?

01:58:35 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 5:

It's Can or Candy or Candace. Depends on

01:58:37 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 3:

what you want to call me. I like it. What's going on, Can?

01:58:41 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 5:

Nothing much on my way to work. I thought I'd time in. I would say breakup, and I am a sweet, nice person, but my husband, which I'm about to have a finalized divorce, was the same way, chose to blend right into my life, my friends, my everything, even my work, got so attached to the point where having my own life wasn't allowed anymore, and it became a huge hostile thing in our household to the point where I couldn't do it anymore, and I had to just say, we got to get a divorce.

01:59:14 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:59:16 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 1:

Did you just feel smothered all the time, like you couldn't come up for air?

01:59:20 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 5:

It was. And here's the thing. He's the sweetest guy, and he just wanted to – it really came off sweet. But other people in my life, my friends, I'd say, look, this is kind of weird. Little control. Why does he tag along everywhere? To the point where I do some depositions and I do legal work for my clients, he would tag along to, like, client meetings. Oh, my God. In a sweet way to be with me all the time.

01:59:42 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow, J.C., J.C., do you ever find that Jack will try to come to work with you?

01:59:49 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 5:

No, he definitely has not crossed over into work. So far, it's just been leisure. It's been hangouts, but it's still smothering nonetheless.

01:59:57 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

So, so can when you're.

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 1:

guy would do this and come with you to these things did clients ever think it was weird that

02:00:03 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 3:

he was doing this can candy candy okay yeah um one of my clients after the fact did make a polite comment but understand i run my own business and i i have a very free lifestyle with my career so my clients just kind of go along with it um but it was getting really weird to the point where like I have to have a girl's weekend, girl's night. And my husband would say, that's not normal. Normal married people don't do that. Oh, what? What?

02:00:40 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 5:

Trolling.

02:00:41 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 3:

And so even my sister, her husband, they have girls' weekends, guys' weekends apart. And my family would say, hey, no, this is normal. And he would say, nope, nope. In his eyes, it wasn't normal. So it's not okay. And I must be doing something wrong. It almost shames me.

02:00:57 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

02:00:58 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 3:

It makes me feel like I couldn't have a real life because I had kids with him. So just because I get married and have kids doesn't mean I lose who I am.

02:01:05 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 1:

Right. That's crazy.

02:01:06 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 7:

So he was controlling and manipulative.

02:01:09 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 1:

Listener Megan, hello.

02:01:12 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I would say make up against new friends. My boyfriend encourages me to go hang out with my friends all the time. He told me last week that he feels like I don't see them enough. but I also moved about two hours away from them for him, so.

02:01:29 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Yeah, he probably feels guilty, too, about that.

02:01:32 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, he definitely does.

02:01:34 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 1:

Listener Mike, what's up? What's going on, guys? How you doing, man? What do you think?

02:01:39 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 2:

I think breakup for Jack. Because most women in this day and age, I find, in my personal experience, want a guy that has time to dedicate to them. So I feel like if he was outspending time with all his buddies, then her feelings would be totally different. She would want him to be at home in order to be with her.

02:02:01 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, there is definitely the happy medium, though. You don't want to be smothered. You know what I mean? Correct, correct. Yes, exactly. But she's feeling like she's being smothered on this one.

02:02:11 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 6:

JC, I hope you like wine.

02:02:13 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 1:

So you need show friends. That's what you need, right? So friends from the show, and you can have them here. mojo in the morning how'd you feel yesterday after uh going home and having your first day

02:02:30 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 7:

back at work after having the flu i'll be super honest with you i was wiped that's why i didn't go downtown with you guys i wanted to see the new studio so bad but i said to you when i was about to leave here i'm like i have to go lay down for a couple of hours because it it knocked me

02:02:44 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 1:

Loses your energy. Right in my butt. And I didn't realize this, but do you mind if I share the other thing that you're dealing with?

02:02:52 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah.

02:02:53 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 1:

Shannon's got another issue that's going on that is very painful.

02:02:59 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 7:

Kidney infection.

02:03:00 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 1:

Ew.

02:03:00 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I know. It's the worst. It is the absolute worst, especially because I already had a lot of the symptoms of, you know, the flu that I was dealing with for the past couple of days. And then I started having this other thing where I'm like, why does it, it doesn't burn when I pee. But it was hurting really bad. And I also had like shooting pain up my sides and my back. And it was like the whole thing on top of each other has just been, it's been a real treat the past couple of days. Megan, you've had one, haven't you?

02:03:27 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 6:

I had two in 16 months and it was the worst experience of my entire life. And I genuinely had never been sicker or in more pain in my entire life than when I had a kidney infection.

02:03:40 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Yes, it is real. And like to the point where it's painful when you, when you pee. And so poor Luce and Smith have heard me trying to go to the bathroom and I was, I was like screaming because it burns when I pee. It didn't burn again. Really want to clear that up. It's, it's like a, it's a whole different kind of pain and thank goodness, you know, I've, I'm taking medication for it. And so I'm feeling a ton better, not great, but better. but I had to explain to Lucy like short form explanation for an eight-year-old that and slight mom lie I'm like you this this could happen to you if you hold your pee and don't go to the bathroom when you need to go to the bathroom because she does this all the time and so I thought all right I'm gonna use this as like a little bit of a teaching tool even though that's not the entire truth but um well I got myself into a little bit of trouble because fast forward to last night we went to see Wes's daughter play in a basketball game on the east side and then we went to um a sports bar out there called art and jake's and so this sweet waitress is at our table and it's me wes my kids smith and lucy and wes's kids sam and kieran and so the waitress is like trying to take our order and lucy's like mom i have to go to the bathroom right now you have to take me to the bathroom right now well i'm like shooting the mean mom eyes at her because i want the way

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 2:

to go around and take all of our orders

02:05:00 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 7:

Thank you.

02:05:01 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 2:

and I didn't want Loose interrupting so I was giving her like the hold on a second, stop interrupting this poor woman who's trying to take our order and she kept going mom, mom. Finally, she says loud enough for everyone including the waitress to hear you don't want me to get your infection and scream when I pee like you do, do you? I thought Wes was going to choke. He was laughing so hard. I'm like great. That sounds lovely

02:05:32 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 7:

You did tell her

02:05:34 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 2:

I did tell her

02:05:35 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 7:

Don't hold your pee

02:05:36 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 2:

You don't want me to get your infection And scream when I pee like you do

02:05:42 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 7:

It's really great The beauty of children is when they don't talk I think it's so funny Every parent has a story like that Every parent has a story Where their kid blurted out Something that they weren't supposed to in front of strangers or maybe not so strangers um will you share yours with us 844 mojo live 844-665-6548-844 mojo live that's great oh my god um is is the uh the the thing like from you being in the studio for as long a period of time that you got it from our length of non-breaks because we're like more than an hour and a half commercial free i don't think so Because, honestly, now it scares me. I've never had a kidney infection at all, but I have held my pee. And I've had this. You know, we've talked before on the show. Listen, we've talked before about duty in our pants. I'm going to admit this. The other day, I actually peed my pants. Did you? Because I was outside, and I was taking the garbage out, and I started to a point where I had to go pee. And then the dogs were out, and they had to go to the bathroom. And I'm outside, and I was trying to, like, hold it in. And I ended up peeing my.

02:06:55 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Did you do the dance?

02:06:56 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 7:

I was, like, doing the dance, and I ended up, like, some was, you know, starting to pee out. And I go in inside, and Chelsea's, I quickly took off my pants, and I went to go to the washer to go wash them. She's like, why are you washing them? I go, Henry peed on me. And I literally, I'm telling you the lie right now, Chelsea. Yeah. I apologize. Because there's nothing that is, like, less romantic than knowing that your spouse just peed themselves. So I apologize.

02:07:21 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

I almost did yesterday.

02:07:23 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 7:

Driving.

02:07:24 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 1:

while we were touring our new building and there's no operational bathrooms yet and they do have a porta potty for the construction workers but i thought i'll just wait till i get home well after i left the building i thought oh my gosh i gotta go now why did i wait so i pull over i i run in beyond juice well they're they don't have a bathroom for customers oh really so okay so i go next door their bathroom's out of order the guy's like i'm really sorry it just broke this morning we're dying here so then i'm like going i'm going through the neighborhood like where can i find a bathroom i finally find this place that sells spices and i'm like i bought some jamaican jerk chicken rub just to go use their bathroom i was like thank you i almost peed myself it's the worst

02:08:01 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 7:

feeling in the world isn't it oh yeah when you have to do that yeah i definitely feel for our

02:08:06 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 1:

friends who have crohn's and colitis who really oh yeah oh yes you have to plan your whole day around where are the bathrooms i need to take a pp um what's going on nikki so when my sister

02:08:17 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 3:

02:08:34 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 7:

02:08:42 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 4:

hi guys hi good morning i was shopping with my daughter she was about three and a half years old i wanted to go into lane bryant she didn't want to go no we have to mama's fat we got to go into the fat lady store so i'm looking through a rack and she's tugging on me yelling at me mom mom mom

02:09:01 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 5:

like what she goes you don't have to shop here her's fatter than you oh no oh no i wanted to Crawl into the rack and he dies.

02:09:12 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 7:

Oh, geez. Actually, that's the point where you go, whose kid is this? Like, whose kid is it? Who left their kid here? Crystal?

02:09:22 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how are you?

02:09:23 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, God, this is another one of those stories, like that last one. What happened?

02:09:27 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 6:

Well, when my daughter was about six, it was when the movie Fat Albert came out. And there was a heavier set black guy that was, like, at the table right by us. She goes, look, Mom, there's Fat Albert.

02:09:39 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. I about died.

02:09:42 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 6:

I died.

02:09:43 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 7:

It was crazy. Did the guy hear it?

02:09:45 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. He just smiled.

02:09:47 - 02:09:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, geez. My kids have done the Santa Claus thing to an older, fat, you know, gray-haired gentleman before, you know, thinking of Santa Claus.

02:09:56 - 02:09:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's so embarrassing.

02:09:57 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:09:57 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 6:

It's so funny, though.

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 7:

Oh, thank you for the call.

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 2:

We appreciate it. What's happening, Dawn?

02:10:03 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 5:

So I used to be a lot heavier than what I am now, and I was in Catholic church or attending mass, and, you know, you have to get up every 10 seconds or 10 minutes.

02:10:15 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Stand, sit, kneel. Stand, sit, kneel. Yes.

02:10:18 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes. Well, I, oh, my gosh, I sneezed, peed myself, as when I stood up, there was a puddle on the pew. Oh, no.

02:10:30 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 3:

And that's why they call it a pew. It's so embarrassing. Oh, no.

02:10:34 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

It's, yeah. So, did people see it?

02:10:40 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I immediately threw my coat over. Oh, that's exactly what I was going to say. Yeah, I was going to say, that's good. Move.

02:10:45 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 2:

Good move.

02:10:46 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 5:

I nearly, thank goodness I was wearing black pants, but, like, I literally put my coat over it, and I was just like, we can't leave masks until everyone else leaves.

02:10:55 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Yeah, Stan, Sid, and Neil makes you have to go to the bathroom. What's going on, Becca?

02:11:00 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 4:

hi um but before i tell what he say i have to tell the background story he was born uh he's a boy six years old um then when he said but um he was born and um unfortunately i put on his birth certificate that he was a female so he was a female once he was two years old but that's a

02:11:21 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

whole other story so he overheard you accidentally did that you accidentally put on his birth certificate

02:11:27 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was a female.

02:11:28 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 2:

So was it hard to change it back?

02:11:31 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, really, really hard. It's a really funny story, but that's all the time.

02:11:35 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right.

02:11:36 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 4:

I actually really want to hear this story.

02:11:38 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 2:

That actually is an interesting topic that we should do sometime.

02:11:41 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 4:

It's really hard to change once it's there.

02:11:45 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's interesting.

02:11:47 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 4:

You need three doctors to tell that he's a boy, and I didn't have anything. anything so he took his diapers off and uh i was like uh you are more proof than that she's like yeah it doesn't work like that and i say oh you know what um f it um he's gonna be a girl and he's gonna change when he's 18 i walk out of the building and they they uh send the security after me they know he cannot do that he's a boy i said i know he's a boy and but you cannot do that you he had to be changed and i said why are you guys giving a hard time so uh they called the supervisor The supervisor, you know, talked to his doctor, and then they want me to call the doctor at least. And I said no. And I laughed again. I was in a laborer, and I came back, and they said, okay, okay, we're going to do that for you. But it's illegal because we have to have two doctors say that he's a boy at least.

02:12:38 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:12:39 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 4:

So that was when he was two years old that I found out. When he was six, I was talking to a friend of mine, and I did not know, I didn't even know he was in the house. So he overheard me say this story And he looked at my eyes And he looked at me and said Mom, why am I vagina Oh, I'm sorry, I can't say that right No, you can say it You can say vagina And he say in Portuguese Because I'm Brazilian So he said, why am I pedagogy It's going to grow And my friend Look at me, what is pedagogy

02:13:12 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 3:

And you're like, well Funny story, there's a lot of paperwork

02:13:16 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 4:

involved here and i say it's not gonna go honey and he's like uh but well you should say that i was born a girl and i had to put this guy this boy in how crazy is that wow how wild is it that

02:13:29 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 2:

the mistake that you make on your birth certificate and it's so hard to change back his name is david wow can you just do me a favor that's a wild story and very interesting Can you just say vagina again

02:13:42 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god Mojo vagina You know what It's so cute How she says it You know it's funny I think I sound like all you guys And then I record And I play and I was like Holy oh my god That's how I sound

02:14:01 - 02:14:02 | Unknown:

That's awful

02:14:02 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 2:

No you sound beautiful Honestly it's just I love it That's wild, though, that to your ears, you say that you sound like everybody else, then you record yourself and listen, then you finally hear your accent.

02:14:17 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 4:

It's awful. And I know it must be cute because I get out of a lot of traffic tickets because of my accent. Oh, do you?

02:14:27 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 2:

You get a lot of traffic tickets or you get out of a lot of traffic?

02:14:31 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 4:

Let's not talk anymore. I talk a lot, and I'm the FBI story.

02:14:35 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she gets out of tickets because the cop's like, I don't have time for this 20-minute story. Just go.

02:14:43 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 1:

Unknown caller? Ha, only a sucker would answer. Another world-famous phone scam happens at 9.50 on Mojo in the Morning. I'm going to introduce the Mojo in the Morning show. I'm all over it, G. Now, six on. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking. Isn't that a thing? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6. Rachel, why are you doing this to your dad?

02:15:15 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 2:

I want to win.

02:15:16 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 1:

You want to win those tickets bad, huh?

02:15:19 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I do.

02:15:20 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 1:

Good Lord, man. I'll tell you what. As a father, if I had a daughter that did this, I would probably, I don't know, maybe have a hard time seeing her for the rest of my life.

02:15:32 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

I know. I'm so nervous.

02:15:34 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So I just want to make sure you're okay with this. You're willing to do it.

02:15:37 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:15:38 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 1:

Let's bring on Pops. This is Rachel's dad. His name is Robert. And, Robert, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Sure, you're cool. You are in for it this morning, Dad, with a contest here. Rachel, will you tell your dad the name of the contest?

02:15:56 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 2:

It's called Six on Set.

02:16:00 - 02:16:01 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

02:16:02 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 1:

Dad, the contest is we're going to ask Rachel six questions about her sex life.

02:16:07 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Don't hate me.

02:16:09 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 1:

Did you know your daughter had a sex life? Well, yeah. You kind of figured? Let me just ask Dad a question. Dad, how old do you think Rachel was when she lost her virginity? Oh, my God. 13. 13?

02:16:26 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Set in the bar low.

02:16:28 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 1:

Why do you say that, Dad?

02:16:31 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 2:

You knew my boyfriend. I was dating then probably why.

02:16:35 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 1:

Wait, did you lose your virginity when you were 13, Rachel? I did. Oh, my goodness. That's so funny. Wait a second. Why am I the one that's blushing? She's not even my daughter. Well, then we're going to ask your daughter some questions here this morning. You ready, Pops? I guess so. Oh, God. Six questions. You stay on the phone the entire time. Your daughter wins concert tickets. If you hang up because it just becomes a little too much for you to handle, she loses. Question number one and six on sex. Rachel, here we go. Rachel, have you ever had sex with someone and you didn't know their name?

02:17:12 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Probably ten times at least.

02:17:16 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Ten times? Yes. What are you doing? You meet people and just like where are you hanging?

02:17:23 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was a while back, but it would be bars or clubs online. I know that sounds horrible, but hey.

02:17:30 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 1:

Would you at least know their first name?

02:17:32 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

02:17:33 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 1:

But you never got to the last name at all? You never, like, said, hey, what, you know?

02:17:37 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 2:

No, no, it didn't go that far. You just went far in a different way.

02:17:42 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Good one, Shannon.

02:17:45 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 2:

You know, she could lie.

02:17:47 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 1:

Listen, we always say that, but you know what? We want honest answers out of these guys, okay? We have a sexual lie detector test here. Question number two, with dad listening in on the phone and Rachel, the daughter, answering, how would you rate yourself in the bedroom on a scale of 1 to 10?

02:18:08 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 2:

11. I'm definitely an 11. Gotta be.

02:18:13 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 1:

What makes you an 11?

02:18:15 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm great. I know this sounds horrible, but I've been told I ******, and I can ****** really well. Okay. All right.

02:18:27 - 02:18:28 | Unknown:

It's so bad.

02:18:28 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 1:

Did she get that from her mother, Dad? Not really. Oh, my God. Question number three. Who have you had sex with that your dad would be mad about?

02:18:44 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 2:

You don't have to use names Now I'm wondering why dad's laughing

02:18:58 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 1:

Why his reaction was laughing Not anger Who's Cody? Who's Cody, dad?

02:19:06 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 2:

Cody's my son's best friend

02:19:08 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god Why does that make you laugh? Is Cody kind of a doorknob?

02:19:13 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Nah, Cody's not so bad. I don't know. He's kind of a horned dog, though. Yes, he is.

02:19:20 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 1:

So you had sex with your brother's best friend. Did your brother know? Yeah. Was he upset?

02:19:25 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:19:26 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 1:

He was okay with that, huh? Totally okay with it. His little sister banging his best friend. That sounds so bad. I'm sorry, Dad. I apologize. I know I got to hit him. Wait, that sounds bad, but the fact that you talked about why you rate yourself an 11 in the bedroom,

02:19:42 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 2:

No, I can't go over for a while. You're a dirty girl.

02:19:49 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, are you ready for question number four?

02:19:51 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Dad's more comfortable with this than I am.

02:19:57 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Question number four, Rachel.

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 2:

Your dad's on the phone. I want you to tell us, what is your favorite kind of foreplay?

02:20:07 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness. Okay, so I have a sexy doctor's outfit, and I like to be a doctor and have my own patients in the bedroom. That's what I like to do.

02:20:22 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Are you giving physicals? What are you doing?

02:20:25 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I mean, it's just however we decide to do it, but that's about as much as I can tell you about that.

02:20:32 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 2:

Besides that, do you have any other outfits that you like to wear, or is that the only outfit? I don't.

02:20:36 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't.

02:20:37 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 2:

No, okay. All right, sexy doctor. You know, and what do you do for a living, Rachel?

02:20:42 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 4:

Direct care work.

02:20:44 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so you do work in the medical field.

02:20:46 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 4:

Yes, sir.

02:20:47 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

So you obviously stole that from one of the docs at work, huh? I did not. Question number five. I don't want to get her fired. Rachel, what do you like in the bedroom that most people don't?

02:21:00 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 4:

Huh. Let's see. Well, I have a daddy fetish, and I like to say dad. Yeah, this is weird. Yeah, a little bit.

02:21:12 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you have a daddy fetish, and you like to what?

02:21:15 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 4:

I like to call who I'm with daddy.

02:21:18 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 3:

I have never understood that one.

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's weird.

02:21:22 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so now that you're talking to your dad about your sex life, do you feel strange about it?

02:21:26 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 4:

I feel very weird and uncomfortable.

02:21:30 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you call your dad daddy too?

02:21:33 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 4:

No, I call him dad.

02:21:36 - 02:21:36 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:21:38 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this is great.

02:21:42 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 2:

And again, for those tuning in at 6 on Sex, we ask Rachel, the daughter, six questions about her sex life. Dad is laughing. It doesn't sound like he's going to hang up Before we get to the last question, which is now, question six and six on sex. Rachel, how old is the oldest person that you've had sex with? You're 23 right now. I don't know if it was recent, but whatever it was, tell us how old you were and how old that person was.

02:22:08 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 4:

The oldest person that I have been with was 45 years old, and I was 18.

02:22:14 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Are you serious? Dad, how old are you? I'm 48. Oh, my God. Same age. Oh, my God. Same age. Oh, my God. Oh, Lord. Make it worse. Does Dad know who this guy is? Absolutely not.

02:22:31 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay, wait. You just said it gets worse.

02:22:33 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. No, I did not. What did I say? I don't know what I said. I didn't say it gets worse.

02:22:38 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you said something about worse, but listen, I don't think it gets any worse than this entire one. But we're going to give her a prize. Rachel. Thank you. Six on sex. Congratulations. Thank you so much. Dad, keep all your buddies away from her, okay?

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll be watching them real close, you know?

02:22:55 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 2:

Dad, thank you for participating. Was it as exciting and fun as it seemed like it was? It was entertaining, that's for sure. Six on... Six, six.

02:23:07 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 1:

I think our boss is masochist. He's a masochist? I forget the word. He likes to torture us. And play those warm, hot, fun songs right before the ice storms come. I don't know why I know that word. Why? Twilight. Twilight? Nice. Well, in this case, let's do a giveaway really quickly. This is a big one, too, because, wait, Shannon, are we supposed to do, yeah, this is the big one, right?

02:23:43 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing? I don't know what you're doing.

02:23:45 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

This is a trip for two to Hollywood.

02:23:47 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you've got to wait a second. You've got to wait for the dirty to start for that.

02:23:49 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 1:

Because I have to do it in the dirty. Perfect. We'll wait on that. Then instead, let's talk about something even bigger. And that is Mike's birthday. What? Happy birthday, Mike. Oh, we got treats in the studio. Oh, look at this. We're all celebrating here. We have sweets and treats.

02:24:14 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 3:

A cake?

02:24:15 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

You do not.

02:24:16 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

A double-decker cake. Wait a minute.

02:24:19 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

I wish you were here to eat this. You guys are... What did you say that word was? Masochism? Masochism? Yes. Wow, look at this. And punchkis. It's punchki day in Detroit. Yeah, Fat Tuesday, too. So we're just going to... You guys are just going to let me listen to you guys eat it? Is that what you're going to do? No, not just listen to us eat it. Here, listen to a very special birthday greeting from President... happy birthday to you who else would get this except you birthday to you happy birthday

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

Hey, happy birthday, Mike.

02:25:05 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 2:

I thought you celebrated a little bit over the weekend. Did you have a good weekend?

02:25:08 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was a lot of fun. Okay, good. We went all over the place and went to the water park and stuff.

02:25:13 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 2:

And you got some new kicks with your big shoe guy.

02:25:15 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. I went to the Nike store in Bertrand and Great Lakes.

02:25:19 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:25:20 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 3:

So it was a lot of fun.

02:25:21 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 4:

Nice. Well, the fun's over. That's it. Enough birthday talk. You only get 90 seconds. Happy birthday. Yeah, happy birthday, Mike. I'm sorry we can't be here to celebrate, but we'll all get together on the weekend and have some drinks for you.

02:25:36 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 3:

Can I have a little bit of credit, Mike?

02:25:39 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:25:39 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 3:

I posted without being told to post. Oh, yeah. So I don't want a whole year of absolute grief from you. I know. I like that you put it in your thing, too. You're like, I don't want to get yelled at this week. I like that she wants the bare minimum.

02:25:54 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 4:

I want credit, too, as well, because I posted without being told as well.

02:25:57 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you very much. Are you eating the cake?

02:26:00 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm actually eating a lemon. While you're telling me that. I'm pretty sure I messaged all you guys last week.

02:26:04 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 1:

If you want one. K.P., I told you it was his birthday. No, you did not. I forgot my planners. I think it's tomorrow.

02:26:11 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 4:

All right, so Lydia gets one quarter point credit. K.P. gets one quarter. Megan gets one quarter. And whoever baked the cake gets one quarter. Congratulations. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:26:23 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, so now we get to do, This is a really insanely amazing prize, and I've been teasing it all morning. This is your chance to win a trip to Hollywood, plus two VIP seats at the live after the Oscars show. So an all-expenses-paid trip to the Academy Awards going down March 12th. This is hotel, this is airfare, all of that good stuff. We are looking for the 95th caller right now who can answer this question. True or false? With this year's Academy Award Best Picture nominees, including the films Top Gun Maverick, Avatar The Way of Water, and Elvis, last year's Best Picture winner was Coda. Is that true or false? Be the 95th caller at 844-MOJO-LIVE. That's 844-665-6548. I'll talk to you at the end of The Dirty, okay?

02:27:19 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 4:

Wow, I like how you make the question easy with a true or false. So even if you don't pay attention like me, you get a 50% chance possibly winning that trip to Hollywood.

02:27:29 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 2:

Locally today, the funeral for one of the MSU shooting victims, 19-year-old Ariel Diamond Anderson, that is taking place at Zion Hope Baptist Church in Detroit. I saw yesterday a steady stream of well-wishers in Michigan State. There are many of them walking through Cantrell Funeral Services for her visitation, all sharing stories about Ariel, babysitting stories, stories from family gatherings, Stories about her hopes to become a surgeon, which would have made her the first doctor in the family. Funerals for the two other shooting victims, Alex Werner and Brian Fraser, were held last week. And as for those MSU students who remain hospitalized, one has been upgraded to fair condition, another to stable. Three remain in critical care. In Other Dirty this morning, Alec Baldwin got a pretty huge legal win in the fatal onset movie shooting case of cinematographer Helena Hutchins. The DA in New Mexico, Santa Fe County, dropped the gun enhancement charge against him, that very specific charge. But that's big because had he been convicted of it, it would have meant a minimum sentence of five years in prison. Now, he still faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, but it's possible he still could avoid deal time altogether here, even if he's convicted. The maximum term, in case you're curious, would be 18 months in prison now.

02:28:51 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy to me that you told us last week in The Dirty that this show production has resumed on that movie and they are going to release it. And I know these producers put millions of dollars into these movies, so they have to put them out and recoup their money.

02:29:02 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, and remember, Helena's husband is now the executive producer. So he has been added to the crew for the movie.

02:29:10 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 3:

And that's so that he wants the movie to come out because there's going to be financial compensation. My question is, did they drop this charge, Shannon, do you think, so that he pleads guilty and then won't have to do jail time? Like, with a plea agreement to not do jail time.

02:29:23 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't know. That stuff is so confusing to me. Like, it just doesn't register in my head. I don't know, to be honest with you. But, yeah, we'll see. Don Lemon wasn't on the CNN This Morning show yesterday. Poppy Harlow opening the show and explaining where he was.

02:29:43 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 1:

Everyone, we do begin with breaking news this morning. President Biden makes a surprise visit to Ukraine. I'm Poppy Harlow in New York here with Sarah Seidner. Caitlin Collins is live in Warsaw, Poland, where the president will be shortly. Don has the day off. And here is what we know.

02:29:55 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's actually had the day off since last Thursday when he made that comment. about women in their prime. Remember, we talked to you all about that. Charles Barkley kind of getting called out for calling Salt Lake City a boring-ass city during his coverage of the 2023 All-Star Game in Salt Lake City. Shaq is his co-host here, by the way.

02:30:21 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 3:

This ain't nothing to do with this boring-ass city.

02:30:24 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 2:

No, it's boring.

02:30:25 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 3:

It's boring. It ain't nothing to do with this. I thought it was great. You just said it was great. It's a great city. No, you just said it was great. Oh, ladies, it's a great city, but there ain't nothing to do here. These people all going to heaven. What? Oh, my gosh. I never ate so much room service in my life. Can't smoke, can't drink. These people going to heaven.

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 4:

He just doesn't care anymore.

02:30:46 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 2:

Nope. And Harry Styles chugging some booze out of his own shoe in Australia last night. He decided to partake in an Australian drinking tradition called doing a shoeie. It's literally pouring alcohol in your shoe and drinking it.

02:30:59 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 4:

This is one of the most disgusting traditions I've ever written.

02:31:04 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 3:

I feel like a different person.

02:31:07 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 4:

It's called a shoeie?

02:31:08 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I feel ashamed of myself.

02:31:11 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 4:

No, thank you. It feels so personal. Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people. I'll be discussing this with my therapist at length. At length. Shannon, you said your dad did that?

02:31:24 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 2:

At my wedding.

02:31:25 - 02:31:26 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:31:26 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 2:

He took my stepmom's heel and was, like, making a luge of sorts out of it.

02:31:31 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

02:31:32 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:31:33 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 4:

It's the best.

02:31:33 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 2:

I mean, impressive. Yeah. Kind of gross. The alcohol kills all the germs, right?

02:31:38 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 4:

I hope so.

02:31:39 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay, we need to get a winner.

02:31:41 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 4:

At least a qualifier. Yeah, well, hang on, hang on. Yeah, let me get a winner bed here so we can do this officially because you have to do it in the dirty, right? Okay.

02:31:50 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 2:

So here's the deal. We're going to be qualifying.

02:31:52 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 4:

Get the stories you'll talk about all day on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:31:56 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 2:

We're going to be qualifying you all week long in the 930 Dirty. Again, a chance to head to the Oscars. And just for qualifying, we're hooking you up with a $50 cash card. So, Natasha. Hi, Natasha. Hi. Good morning.

02:32:19 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 4:

Congratulations, you made it through. You made it through.

02:32:21 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

You've got to answer my question correctly, okay? True or false? Okay. With this year's Academy Award Best Picture nominees, including the films Top Gun Maverick, Avatar, The Way of Water, and Elvis, last year's Best Picture winner was Coda. Is that true or false?

02:32:37 - 02:32:40 | Unknown:

False. Oh, no.

02:32:42 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Natasha, you definitely said something else on the phone. She changed her answer.

02:32:46 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 2:

Never changed your answer. I know. I'm sorry.

02:32:49 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 4:

We've got to go to the next caller.

02:32:49 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 2:

And, of course, hopefully they were just listening.

02:32:52 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 4:

Right? I know. Really? It can't be much easier than this. Hi. Mojo in the morning. Who's this?

02:32:57 - 02:32:58 | Unknown:

This is Hunter.

02:32:58 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 2:

How are you guys doing? Hi, Hunter. Were you listening to the question and the wrong answer so you obviously know the right answer?

02:33:03 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 1:

Spencer won today. I did not hear the question and the wrong answer, but I'm going to go with it. Wait, wait, wait.

02:33:09 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 4:

This is Hunter or Spencer?

02:33:11 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 1:

Hunter.

02:33:12 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Did Hunter win already today? No, he's...

02:33:15 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

02:33:16 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 4:

Okay, he's good. Okay. You can go ahead and answer the question, Hunter. We thought you were a previous winner today.

02:33:22 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 2:

It is true. He says true.

02:33:24 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 4:

Thank God.

02:33:27 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so just for qualifying, we're hooking you up with a $50 cash card. And if you should win, we're drawing a grand prize winner on Friday. You're going to get round-trip coach airfare for two to L.A., hotel accommodations for two nights, pre-tipped car service to and from the airport. We've got a Visa gift card for you so that you can get some food. and also a VIP admission, VIP seats to the live after Oscar show. So hopefully you'll win and we'll be talking to you on Friday, okay?

02:33:59 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. Awesome. Thanks for listening. Hang on the line so we can get all your info.

02:34:02 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 2:

Another chance to qualify tomorrow in the 930 Dirty, so make sure you're listening.

02:34:08 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 4:

It's time for an official government survey. This mojo in the morning senseless survey.

02:34:32 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't know anything about that stuff. By the way, I'm living in the air deck.

02:34:38 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, what you said. Why do they call it Applebee's when they don't serve apples or bees?

02:34:43 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 1:

Do you wash your balls when you're done golfing?

02:34:53 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh boy. I'm sorry. Say that again. That didn't help. And have you ever accidentally left your retainer on the lunch tray at school and threw it in the trash?

02:35:06 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm 90 years old.

02:35:08 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 4:

90 years old? That's beautiful. Well, I'm glad you're still with us.

02:35:12 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 2:

We invited everybody to get our own house.

02:35:15 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 4:

Gotcha. Would a hamster with a top hat make you smile?

02:35:19 - 02:35:21 | Unknown:

No, people make me smile more.

02:35:22 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 4:

People, yeah. Oh, boy. Do you support removing President Martin Van Buren from Mount Rushmore?

02:35:29 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't care what he does.

02:35:30 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 4:

Did you vote for him?

02:35:32 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:35:33 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 4:

Does the sound of my voice make you melt?

02:35:35 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Makes you madder than hell.

02:35:37 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 4:

Makes you madder than hell?

02:35:38 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 2:

I know these questions you're asking me and my age are for the birds.

02:35:43 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 4:

They're for the birds? Yeah. Have you ever done any voice work in the Hollywood industry, specifically the Disney cartoons? No. You remind me of a duck that doesn't wear pants. I think his name was Donald.

02:35:54 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 2:

No, that was my husband's name.

02:35:56 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 4:

So you never worked with a fella named Mickey or Goofy or Pluto?

02:36:01 - 02:36:01 | Unknown:

No.

02:36:02 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 4:

So you're 90 years old, huh? Do you use a sundial or do you have an actual watch?

02:36:06 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 2:

So you need 100 times, man?

02:36:09 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 4:

What, what, what, what?

02:36:10 - 02:36:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't care what time it is.

02:36:13 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 4:

I got you.

02:36:14 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 2:

So I think we'll probably have a next 30 days while we're out of here.

02:36:20 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm. I just got to say, Betty, it's Betty White, right? I loved you on Golden Girls.

02:36:26 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm watching Golden Girls right now.

02:36:28 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 4:

Are you really?

02:36:30 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, I am.

02:36:31 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 4:

How did I know that?
