We've all been there. We've had seasons that have shaken everything. The question is, what remains when the shaking stops? Hi, I'm Gary Valenciano, and on my podcast, Unshaken with Gary V, I sit down with amazing personalities and we talk about the seasons that nearly broke them, the lows that carried them to their highs. Listen to Unshaken with Gary Vee on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:01:41 - 00:01:48 | Speaker 3:

One, three, two, one. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

00:01:48 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 6:

Mojo. This show's up. And the rocket's red glare. You're not being logical is what I'm saying.

00:01:59 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 4:

This is like an orgasm in a cop.

00:02:06 - 00:02:49 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:02:49 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 2:

all right mojo in the morning show so uh mike uh brought the family out to uh actually everybody brought the family out we'll talk about that coming up but mike brought his family out ali and the kids and it was so funny when you came up to me and said hey i want to ask you a parenting question did you ever experience this with your kids tell everybody what cecily was done

00:03:19 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 5:

so she it's the first time like she's come to like a like a broadcast where people are there for the broadcast and so she hasn't really experienced any of that when people walk up she just assumes that everybody that walks up is somebody that i talk to all the time like a somebody that's like lives down the road and um so when she walks into the room and everybody's hey hey she literally just jumps out of her like there's no shyness in her she's instantly talking to everybody in the room she's uh she's then but that she does this thing where she starts like giving out personal information to all these people because she assumes that like you know they're they're just they're friends or relatives right yes yeah yeah so she's like did you know my birthday's coming up this is what i want for my birthday she is a born performer i

00:04:06 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 6:

love that she's not shy at all and usually you get one of each when you have kids one's shy one's quiet and the other one's just my girlfriend said that cecily walked right up to her hi do you know My name's Cecily. Do you know my dad? He's on the radio. Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies? It's like word vomit. I love it. But did she buy some?

00:04:23 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 5:

I mean. We did order yesterday. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. That's awesome. And, like, I heard she started singing Bruno. Yeah. Oh, my God. Stop. I love it. What are you doing?

00:04:35 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

She went into full broadcast mode. Like, this is my show now. Forget what that morning show's doing over there.

00:04:41 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Did she tell any information that she probably shouldn't have given out? Yes. She starts talking about our house. She doesn't know our address yet, but she starts explaining where it is. She knows she lives in the area we live in. I guess I don't care. Hudson, Phillip, Jenison area. But she starts going into the-

00:05:00 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 3:

like, details of our house and telling, like, inviting them over to, like, come in. Again, that's very sweet, but, like, I love it. I just don't know how to dial it back without crushing it. Do you know what I mean?

00:05:13 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't want to kill her spark.

00:05:15 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no.

00:05:16 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 4:

She was great. By the way, I got to tell you something. She's, like, I saw that a lot in Joe, so I don't know if this is going to scare you, but Joe would come out to remote, and then he would take over for the promotions people, and be better at passing prizes out and things out to people. And now he's actually hosting the Joe show and stuff. So you may have the Cecily morning radio experience or whatever, you know, Cecily in the morning coming up here very soon, Mike.

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

That's fine as long as she just doesn't start.

00:05:46 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 4:

As long as you don't get a doorbell ring and then you go to the door and it's a bunch of listeners. Hey, Cecily invited us over. Yeah.

00:05:54 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 3:

And I know, I guess, like, I don't know. I like that she does it. I'm just scared she's going to give out something that she should. Like, here's my social security number. You know what I mean? Here's my daddy's credit card number. Oh, she doesn't have those. Let's try. I'm going to ask her for that. She is so great, by the way.

00:06:13 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 4:

She is really, really a special kid.

00:06:16 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

I think I scared her because I walked up to her right when you guys got there, and I was, like, way loud and overly excited to say hi. Megan, were you standing right next to me? I was. She looked at me like, who in the hell are you? And why are you talking to me that way?

00:06:31 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 6:

Her eyes got really big. I said, I'm sorry. I was really loud. The best part was Shannon got down on her level, was so excited to see her. Sez was like, hi. Hi. I slowly stopped backwards.

00:06:47 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I bet you that there are people that have experienced this before. Who has the overly friendly kids? Like, where your kids are overly friendly that you have to be careful because they'll, like, walk up and start talking to strangers. Or pick up your phone and just start talking. They don't even know who's on the other side. Yes, that's another one, too. Yeah.

00:07:07 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 5:

I think it was pretty amazing I was never kidnapped. Because I was that kid. I was so comfortable with strangers.

00:07:13 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if there are any kids that have ever picked up their mom or dad's phone and brought it into a room not telling their parent. And they either overheard it or maybe they were on FaceTime and they saw some they probably shouldn't have. Gotten a chance to take a look at. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Or the text is 95500. How is Cecily doing, by the way, on Girl Scout Cookies? I still have to order mine. You sent it to me a while ago, and I've got to order those this morning. You've got some time. I think you got to the end of February. Is it?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Ours stopped last week.

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

How's she doing, Mike?

00:07:49 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Wait, your stop last week? I ordered last night. I know. I have to tell you today. You can't process your order, so you've got to go through Ceci. I went through five people yesterday. Oh, my gosh.

00:07:59 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 4:

She's doing very well. Is she killing it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you think that this is actually part of it? Is this, you know, part of the – because she's such a personality?

00:08:07 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Like, do they put them out in front of Meijer's store selling them? So, no, she doesn't do a lot of that. The video, honestly, was the big thing, and then we talked about it. It was a big thing, too. But she's gone door to door, like, in the neighborhood, and she's gone around. that's pretty much she's gone to like families and friends and stuff like that but at that video and talking about it kind of did a lot

00:08:29 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

does she when she goes door to door does she like overly like overly talk to them or do you have to like tell her like pull her back a little bit to say just give out the information and then let's go yeah

00:08:41 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

I have to pull her back she's very much like me when she starts talking like she'll just go and go and go until somebody interrupts her I was gonna say I know the apple doesn't fall far from the tree I am self-aware. This is why I'm trying to dial it back now before it becomes a problem. Yeah.

00:08:59 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 4:

Billy? Yeah. What's going on, Billy? You have a child just like Mike's?

00:09:05 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, just like her. She will walk up to a total stranger, start telling them everything from life story, and I think she gives them my credit card number because they think that, you know, that they're my best friend and they need to know everything.

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

How does she know your credit card number?

00:09:26 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know, I always lay my wallet down in the foyer.

00:09:31 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy.

00:09:31 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

And, yeah, I had to quit doing that because, yeah, she's got a good memory.

00:09:36 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 4:

I love, by the way, that you call it the foyer.

00:09:38 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 1:

The foyer.

00:09:39 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Hanging out at Billy's foyer.

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

My wife corrected me many a times on it.

00:09:46 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 4:

What did you call it before?

00:09:48 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

The one room that nobody cares about That's good

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Kaylee, what's going on? Hi, how are you guys? We're good, what's going on with you? Do you have a child like this?

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 9:

A hundred percent. If you ask my son what his name is, he'll tell you his first, middle, last name, and he'll tell you his street address.

00:10:07 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 9:

So he's right up there with Cecily.

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 5:

What do you do?

00:10:12 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 9:

Give me all his information.

00:10:13 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 5:

It's good if he ever gets lost. I mean, you want them to know that story.

00:10:17 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 9:

Yes, and that's part of the reason why, like with all the sex trafficking and everything else. But, I mean, it's scary when we go to the park and he's playing with another child and there's just random people walking around. and he will just, like, keep saying it on repeat, and then I'll think another child didn't hear his name, and I'm like, oh, no, they heard you the first time. Stop saying it loud. Like, it's okay.

00:10:40 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

It's all right. Mojo in the morning, Victoria, hi. Hi. You have to stop your kids from going up and actually hugging strangers?

00:10:50 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 11:

Yes, I have three girls, and it was when they were a little bit younger, um i want to say like about three or four years ago um if i see someone that i went to school with i see somebody that's just so like an old co-worker i go out to them i hug them they're like oh okay well then i mean that's good my mom hugged him i'm gonna go hug him too hi and then they go i'm like no you can't do that yeah i know it doesn't mean uh you have to give permission first because people they tend to be a little like oh why is your child hugging me so i they kind of got better at it because i give them that mom look and shannon you know that mom oh i know that all the time it's a talent we have

00:11:37 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

thank you for the call listen to this one mimi hi good morning good morning good morning mimi tell us about your little one

00:11:48 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 10:

she is six years old and my mom's husband is ball-headed so like every ball-headed guy she used to see when she was just like uh four she was just like mom it's grandpa we had a mailman they used to come and drop off our mail and he was ball-headed she's like mom grandpa's dropping

00:12:08 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Justin, what's up?

00:12:15 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

It's Justine, hi.

00:12:16 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 4:

I apologize. Hi, Justine.

00:12:18 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Hi, the older Sunday kid was me. My mom used to tell me stories when I was younger. And I used to have, like, an asphyxiation with older people. And I used to, like, if we got ice cream, I used to sit on the bench. I'd be, like, move over. And I'm like, can I have some of yours? Do you want to try mine? And I used to try the older people's ice cream.

00:12:42 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 8:

We were at Red Luster last night, and Cecily started trying to give the biscuits to the waitresses or to the servers and to the people at the other tables. She would just walk up with those Cheddar Bay biscuits and start handing them to them. Like, hey, do you want some? The size of her heart.

00:12:56 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 11:

You have to be proud, too.

00:12:59 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And by the way, you had a fascination with older people, not an asphyxiation. Yeah, that would be a crime.

00:13:05 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 7:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:13:17 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 5:

Kevin James starred in the movie Mall Cop this year. Ma'am, I should warn you, I do have the authority to make a citizen's arrest.

00:13:24 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

So does anyone. I could arrest you right now. That's true, she could.

00:13:27 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, not talking to you.

00:13:28 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 1:

The correct title, Paul Blart.

00:13:30 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yes, I'm sorry. This is also the year the World Health Organization declared H1N1, the proper title, the swine flu.

00:13:38 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 2:

The World Health Organization has declared a swine flu pandemic as the disease continues to spread around the world.

00:13:45 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 1:

We are all in this together. And we will all get through this together.

00:13:53 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 5:

And I know Shannon knows the big song from this year.

00:13:56 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:13:57 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 5:

Flo Rida with Kesha. This is right round. Don't picture you dancing on the bar to this one Did I? Memory's hazy 844-MOJO-LIVE We got a great prize for you A gift card to Fishbones If you think you know the year That all of this took place Good luck

00:14:40 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 11:

2009.

00:14:41 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, good job. What clue gave it away for you?

00:14:45 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 11:

Paul Blart.

00:14:46 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 5:

Come on. Really? Were you that big a fan of Kevin James?

00:14:52 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 11:

Yeah, it was a good one. The second one wasn't as good, but, you know, the first one was good. It's one of Lydia's favorite movies.

00:14:57 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 5:

Is it really?

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 10:

Yes.

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Unknown:

Oh, damn it!

00:15:00 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 3:

All right. I'll give it to you. It's mindless. All right. Well, you got a prize, Melissa. Thanks for listening this morning. Breaking dirty, Shannon, before I hit your intro, Megan made it early for work this morning, even though she hosted a Mardi Gras party until after midnight. Oh, I didn't think about that. Yeah, you probably were awake.

00:15:56 - 00:15:56 | Unknown:

Good morning.

00:15:57 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, it's going to be great. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right.

00:16:04 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Kevin Costner's lawyer is now shooting down all of those rumors that he's been holding up production of Yellowstone. This is a story for you, Yellowstone fans. And we've been hearing about some potential delays for the second half of season five because Kevin only said he was going to work for one week and that was it. So they had to like get all of the shooting done in one week and then he was done. Well, his lawyer said it's ridiculous. And anybody suggesting that rumor, suggesting it shouldn't be believed for one second, he went on to say, as everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, He's incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its success. Ed Sheeran has created a new hot sauce in collaboration with Kraft Heinz that's based on his childhood nickname, Ted. It's called Tingly Ted's.

00:17:04 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 2:

Because when I think hot sauce, I think Ed Sheeran.

00:17:07 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he was talking about it on Instagram.

00:17:11 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 2:

I love my food. That's no secret. But the older I get, the more I need spice. So we've developed a hot sauce called Tingly Tets. I've developed this over time with some expert hot sauce makers. We've basically whittled it down to the best flavors, the best chilies. I wanted it the same consistency as ketchup. I love it. I carry it in my suitcase wherever I go. I have it on breakfast. I have it on lunch. I have it on dinner. I have it on artichoke food. I have it on snacks. You can have it with anything. Literally anything. This is for you guys.

00:17:36 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 1:

It comes in two varieties. Tingly and extra tingly.

00:17:39 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 3:

He better be making a lot of money from this because he doesn't need it. He was one of the top ten artists of the last decade.

00:17:45 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we need to play a game, condiment or E.D. pill.

00:17:49 - 00:17:51 | Unknown:

Tingly Ted's. Tingly Ted's.

00:17:52 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he even made up a little jingle for Tingly Ted's.

00:17:54 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 2:

I have written a theme tune. Check it out. Tingly Ted makes the tongue jingle.

00:18:01 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. I wish I had a release date for you. I don't have one yet. I'm so sorry. But the Tingly sauce, just the not-so-hot one, is described as a medium hot sauce that feels like a warm hug in a bottle.

00:18:13 - 00:18:13 | Unknown:

You know what?

00:18:14 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 3:

Ed, get your money.

00:18:16 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

00:18:16 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 3:

I'm not mad at him.

00:18:17 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 1:

Get those coins. And you would do it too for a check. NBA star Devin Booker has stopped following Kendall Jenner. Hang on, this just in.

00:18:25 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:

Now produced, you can get in Kroger. Spicy Spikes is going to be available on store shelves.

00:18:30 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 1:

Fans have a theory about the timing of this unfollow. Kendall spotted leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills around the same time as Bad Bunny on Saturday, fueling some dating rumors. I know Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber, they were seen at the same restaurant on the same day, so maybe there was a little double date happening. But after her outing with Bad Bunny, fans were very quick to notice that Devin unfollowed her. One wrote, guess the We're Still Friends Act was good as long as none of them started seeing somebody new.

00:18:59 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 3:

I saw a lot of angry Bad Bunny fans, too, that he was getting roped into the Kendall Jenner, Kardashian world.

00:19:06 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 1:

Kristen Cavallari's DMs have been full of married guys. The Laguna Beach star revealed in a recent episode of Rachel Bilson's Broad Ideas podcast that a lot of married men have been asking her out since her split from Jay Cutler. She's not interested. 00:20:39 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 2:

00:21:01 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 2:

00:21:03 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 4:

90 years old? That's beautiful Well, I'm glad you're still with us

00:21:08 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 2:

We invited everybody to go to every place

00:21:11 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 4:

Gotcha Would a hamster with a top hat make you smile?

00:21:15 - 00:21:17 | Unknown:

No, people make me smile more

00:21:17 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 4:

People, yeah Oh boy Do you support removing President Martin Van Buren from Mount Rushmore?

00:21:24 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't care what he does.

00:21:26 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 4:

Did you vote for him?

00:21:28 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:21:28 - 00:21:30 | Speaker 4:

Does the sound of my voice make you melt?

00:21:31 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 2:

Makes you madder than hell.

00:21:32 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 4:

Makes you madder than hell?

00:21:34 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 2:

I know these questions they're asking me and my age are for the birds.

00:21:39 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 4:

They're for the birds? Yeah. Have you ever done any voice work in the Hollywood industry, specifically the Disney cartoons? No. No? You remind me of a duck that doesn't wear pants. I think his name was Donald.

00:21:50 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 2:

No, that was my husband's name.

00:21:52 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 4:

So you never worked with a fella named Mickey or Goofy or Pluto?

00:21:57 - 00:21:57 | Unknown:

No.

00:21:57 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 4:

So you're 90 years old, huh? Do you use a sundial or do you have an actual watch?

00:22:02 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, you mean what do I have time to buy?

00:22:05 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 4:

What, what, what, what?

00:22:06 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't care what time it is.

00:22:08 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 4:

I got you.

00:22:10 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 2:

So I think we'll probably buy the next 30 days while we're out of here.

00:22:16 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm. I just got to say, Betty, it's Betty White, right? I loved you on Golden Girls.

00:22:22 - 00:22:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm watching Golden Girls right now.

00:22:24 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 4:

Are you really? Well, I am. How did I know that?

00:22:29 - 00:22:30 | Unknown:

Because I can't be stupid.

00:22:30 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 4:

If an angel farted, what do you think it would smell like?

00:22:33 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for God's sake.

00:22:39 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 4:

00:27:05 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 2:

Elena and her dad want to try five lies to tell your mom this morning. Now, Elena's a little accident prone. How many accidents have you been in? One, two, about five. And how long have you been driving? Three years. Oh, my God. You've gotten more accidents than years that you've been actually driving? You're a worse driver than Mojo. I was just going to say, Mojo finally met his match. Oh, my God. All right, so here's what we're going to do, Elena.

00:27:34 - 00:27:35 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:27:35 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 2:

We're going to call your mom up, and you're going to do five lies to tell your mom. And in these lies, you're going to have to act out that you just got into an accident.

00:27:43 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 1:

You're not driving right now, are you?

00:27:45 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 3:

No, I went to babysit my friend's kid right now.

00:27:48 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 1:

Put it in park, please.

00:27:49 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Throw the keys out the window. Okay. First lie would be, Mom, I was on my way to go babysit, and I was going a little too fast. Okay. All right, lie number two. Say, I was checking my text messages, and I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Lie number three, Spike.

00:28:05 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Say, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a tree went right in front of my car. Lie number four.

00:28:12 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 3:

The police came, and they gave me five tickets. Okay.

00:28:16 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever gotten a ticket before?

00:28:17 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got one for wearing my seatbelt incorrectly, and then one for not having my insurance on me, and then having an expired insurance, and then... Yeah, what do you mean wear your seatbelt incorrectly?

00:28:34 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 1:

Are you one of those people that puts it behind you?

00:28:37 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yes.

00:28:38 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 1:

I never understand that. They click it, and then they put it behind them.

00:28:42 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 3:

You know what? It messes up my hair, and it just...

00:28:44 - 00:28:50 | Speaker 1:

00:28:59 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 3:

hello hi mom yes i was on my way to babysitting and i was going a little too fast Um, I was checking, I was checking my text messages, and then all of a sudden there was a tree that was right in front of my car. Really, Elena? Yeah. No, really, Elena. Mom, yeah, I'm not, hold on, I'm not finished. The police came, gave me five tickets. You got five tickets? Yeah. You probably lose your license, right? I don't know. Hi, honey, when you have five tickets at one time. The police are still here, and I don't know what to do. They're asking me questions, and I don't know what to say. What are they asking you? They're asking me how many tickets I got. And, um, like, my car, my car's bad.

00:30:05 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 2:

Hello, is this Elena's mom?

00:30:07 - 00:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes, hi, do I need to come over there?

00:30:09 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Elena's mom, how you doing? This is Officer Johnson.

00:30:13 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Officer Johnson.

00:30:14 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 2:

And we have a little bit of an issue here. All right. First off, your car is completely damaged. It's completely totaled.

00:30:22 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:30:24 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 2:

Did you know that your daughter's been in accidents before?

00:30:26 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 3:

um yes my daughter's probably very nervous at this point freaking out who does she drive like you or your husband what do you mean by that well she's an awful driver well that's not very um fair

00:30:43 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 2:

to say right well i think it's fair to say when you look at this car and you look at all the damage that's been done hold on a second i'm getting uh there's a phone call coming in here hold on one second okay hello who is this sorry this is Eric who are you Eric that's who this is the biological father okay how you doing this is officer Johnson Eric I've got your wife on the phone right now with us hi do you want

00:31:18 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 3:

tell her what you and your daughter are up to he has no idea what has gone on and we must have some

00:31:27 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 1:

idea because she had to learn to drive from one of you two people you know that's not even fair

00:31:32 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 3:

to say officer johnson you know i don't have any tickets you don't have anything this is actually

00:31:42 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 1:

this is officer cox this is not officer johnson oh did you guys change now we're both here

00:31:48 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:31:49 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 1:

You're on the speaker because we want your daughter to hear this conversation.

00:31:53 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 3:

I just don't, I don't believe we're being treated this way for my daughter's offense.

00:31:59 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 1:

Do you think you have any right to be concerned in how you're being treated when your daughter has this kind of driving record?

00:32:05 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 3:

The last accident she was in was not her fault.

00:32:09 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Ma'am, do you realize your daughter has been involved somehow in at least five different accidents since the time that she started driving? And you keep on giving her another car to keep driving with. Hold on. Our other officer on the scene, Officer Labia, is here right now. Go ahead, officer.

00:32:29 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 3:

How many prior accidents has she been in? Eric? I mean, she, not her doing, the last one was not her doing. Yeah, most of the accidents are not her fault, but. Oh, it's just the parents who taught her how to drive's fault. We don't really need to be, you know. Hold on, let me put you on speaker.

00:32:53 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 2:

Why are you putting us on speaker?

00:32:54 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 3:

Because I just want someone else to be hearing how we're treated.

00:33:00 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, put them on speaker so they can hear this. Is everybody listening?

00:33:06 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:33:07 - 00:33:10 | Speaker 2:

This is Officer Johnson. This is Officer Cox.

00:33:10 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 3:

And Officer Labia.

00:33:11 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 2:

And we're here to tell all of you that your co-worker has been a victim of five lives to tell your mom on Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:25 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Lori? I don't know who's going to be in more trouble later, Elena or Dad Eric?

00:33:33 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. I love the names. Did you like the names? I love the names.

00:33:40 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I feel so bad. She's not happy. The reason she wanted everybody on the speaker is because her boss is a lawyer. Oh. Great. Yeah. Hello?

00:34:00 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 2:

Mom, we just wanted to tell you that it was all your daughter and your husband's fault. It's not ours. Are you okay?

00:34:09 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 3:

I listen to you guys all the time, and I laugh at everyone else, but it wasn't fun when it happened to me.

00:34:14 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 2:

Mom, what do you want to say to Elena, who's listening right now?

00:34:20 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 3:

She's in deep s**t. You know what? Get my dad on the phone. He needs to be on this.

00:34:25 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 2:

Dad? Yes.

00:34:27 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 3:

I hope you're scared. You have a heart condition, so the next time I call in and we do this prank to you, I'll be collecting the big bucks.

00:34:36 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:34:37 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 3:

Five to me. Five to me.

00:34:39 - 00:34:39 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:34:40 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:34:42 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

It is Mojo in the Morning. I'm still a little down after going to get a pedicure yesterday and having the pedicurist pull my foot out of the bowl. You know how they do that? They tell you to sit there, and then I love just, like, soaking my feet.

00:34:59 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 3:

So do I. You sit in the, you know, the chair, that comfy chair that's got like, I always get the chair that has broken, though.

00:35:07 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you got to ask to move then.

00:35:09 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, I did have to ask to move yesterday because the chair wouldn't go all the way back. And I was like, little man or big man in a little seat.

00:35:20 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 2:

You're the opposite of me. I push mine. I'm only five feet tall. So I have to push mine all the way forward. You push yours all the way back.

00:35:26 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 3:

So I have to go all the way back. And then I have the massage thing on. I'm soaking my feet, and as I, you know, meet this nice lady that's going to do my thing, she says, in her accent, she says, she pulls my foot out of there. She goes, oh, your poor feet. How do they hold you up? I started cracking up laughing.

00:35:47 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 2:

She made fun of your feet.

00:35:49 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. She looked at my foot, and I think she called me fat because she said, how do they hold you up? And then she went on to tell me, your feet are getting mad at you. And that was her thing that she said. And then I realized that she was referring to the fact that I hadn't had a pedicure in a while. And my feet looked like they were a little scaly. You know what I mean? Like they had a lot of dead skin and stuff on there. But I did not. Can somebody explain this to me? Can your feet get angry at you? Like, can they get mad? Do they have, are they somebody that they can show emotion? Can your feet show emotion, please? Tell me this, because this woman was trying to explain to me that my foot was showing emotion. But Megan and Mike, it spikes out today, so we got Shannon here and Reese and Ellen and everybody. Please let me know. Is she calling me fat when she says, how do your feet hold you up, fat boy?

00:36:49 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 1:

I think you need to put this place on blast And I think I need to make a call later on your behalf Because I'm pissed for you

00:36:55 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 3:

Thank you I was like wait a second And then when she said that whole thing about my feet being angry Then I thought oh I think she's referring to I don't know

00:37:03 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 2:

When they pull out that drill Do you know what I'm talking about The sand blaster to go over your toes You know it's bad

00:37:12 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh the

00:37:13 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 2:

You know it's bad Or the cheese grater

00:37:17 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 3:

I told her, I said, because Chelsea's like, don't get the cheese grater, because I don't know if I told you guys this story, but my sister had the cheese grater, worked on her at a place in Chicago, and got an infection on her foot.

00:37:28 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I bet she did.

00:37:29 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 3:

So you should never have the cheese grater done.

00:37:32 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 2:

They're not supposed to be using those anymore. Really? Yeah. They're supposed to, like, you should see them opening a packet of everything brand new. And the place I've been going to now uses, like, these little sponges that are in those new packets instead of the cheese grater.

00:37:45 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 1:

Like rough ones, like hard ones? Yeah.

00:37:46 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 3:

I feel bad I cheated on quarter to the singing manicurist

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 1:

See that's what you get

00:37:51 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 3:

Seriously So I'm racing home And then I realized oh I'm racing home And you know Chels had a bunch of other things That she had going on so I didn't have to race home I was going to race home to have nothing So I'm like oh I'll stop off and I'll get a pedicure So I went by this place That is fairly close to my house Is not quarter to the singing manicurist place And I saw it there And I was like

00:38:14 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 2:

Such a sad moment Well remember I told you the story of When my sister came back She went to get a pedicure And they told my other sister Do not ever bring her back here They really did Because her feet were so bad And it's my other sister Jacqueline's place that she goes to all the time And the lady said Pointed to my sister Emily Do not bring her back here They said her feet looked like an earthquake Or something Somebody will buy those pictures

00:38:45 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying

00:38:46 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that the perfect client? Don't you want the client that has bad feet So that you can make them look good So you can do before and afters That's like going to a plastic surgeon And the plastic surgeon is like Don't ever bring that person again I can't make them look good looking

00:39:02 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you if you do this Do you compare your feet to the people who are sitting around you? I do too If there are people on either side of me I'm like, all right, that person's feet are disgusting. Mine don't look so bad.

00:39:15 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

But I read this on the internet, so who knows if it's true or not. But I've always been very proud of my feet. I look at other people's feet and I go, that's bad. And I look at mine and I go, these are cute. And I read somewhere that science has wired our brain to think that our own feet are cuter than they actually are. So I have this weird fear that I'm actually walking around with super ugly feet and I don't even know it because I think they're cute. Oh, man. Interesting. I never thought about that. Yeah. I don't think mine are bad. Nobody thinks theirs are bad. I do. Or like a very few amount of people think that they're bad. Most people think that they're good, and apparently they're not.

00:39:50 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

You have ugly feet, Mike? I have hideous feet. They're absolutely hideous. I would never show you guys ever in a million years. In fact, they're painted right now, and I think they look the best because my daughter

00:40:00 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 2:

painted them you know what i do sometimes when i do look at other people's feet i go wow they got small feet like i'll look at them like wow i mean that was like really tiny especially if there's like another guy because sometimes i'll go to these places and i go in the middle of the day and it's usually not a lot of guys that are there yeah usually at the times that i go it's it's sometimes it's a lot of the high school kids from the local high school or it's mom's and this guy was sitting like two down from me and i'm like man that guy is a big man with a little tiny feet and i'm like hi why doesn't she ask him how that he gets held up by those um yeah have you guys ever um known somebody that's weird enough that they've asked for their toenails what wait what that means there was a pedicure uh a pedicureist that i went to a quarter's place that i asked so what's the weirdest thing that a person has ever asked you for and she said that um one of the the people asked for their toenails back and they wanted their toenails oh and i and after they clipped them and i thought to myself i wonder what that is but i think they were one of those dna freaking uh freak people like they want to get cloned yeah they don't want or they or they feel like somebody's gonna like you know it's tracing them or trying to figure something out from them

00:41:25 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 5:

you sell toenails i didn't know that i'm more mad that they got their toenails back but when i asked for my wisdom teeth my identity straight up was like get out of here Because they're both weird.

00:41:42 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm one of those things are weird. I do have my wisdom tooth, yeah. He gave me mine.

00:41:48 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 2:

Megan's right. They stopped doing that, though.

00:41:49 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 6:

I just got mine done a year and a half ago. And he gave it to me.

00:41:52 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 2:

He gave it to you because he knew you were, yeah.

00:41:55 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 6:

He doesn't know what I did. I really don't think he did it. No. Really?

00:41:59 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that they give it back anymore, because I think that happened with Jacob. I don't think Jacob got his wisdom teeth back.

00:42:04 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, you've got to put it in a necklace or a ring or something. Absolutely.

00:42:06 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 6:

That's what my friend here said.

00:42:08 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:42:08 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 6:

No, no. I'll give it to you for your birthday this summer. Please, please, please, please.

00:42:15 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

I will bet you that my big toe on my right foot's nail was so big, it might have been bigger than Shannon's wisdom, too. That's so gross. I would bet if we compared them both together, if we put them both together, people would be like, holy crap. It was so long and so thick.

00:42:33 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 6:

I have the smallest pinky toenail ever. Like, God should have just not even put them on my toes. They're so small. Really? They can't even clip them. I'm not kidding. It's like a pencil tip. I can't. A waste of a nail. Do you have cute feet? No. No. I mean, my feet are okay, honestly.

00:42:50 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what I'm doing, what I'm taking, what kind of pills or something like that. My nails have been growing like weeds. They seriously, my fingernails and my toenails have been growing like crazy. I'm happy for you. Yeah.

00:43:03 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 3:

And I used to have to get

00:43:05 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 2:

This is the weirdest thing Because they say as you get older You get less haircuts Because your hair doesn't grow as much My hair's been growing I've been having to go get a haircut Like once every two and a half, three weeks Because the hair's been growing I'm sorry Mike

00:43:17 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 3:

I got big feet I got lots of long, lush hair

00:43:23 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry Okay, I get it, I get it Lauren, what's going on?

00:43:28 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 4:

Good morning Good morning morning um i just wanted to tell you guys i'm a nurse in the operating room and we will have people ask for their like chopped up bones from when we do their knee and hip replacement

00:43:44 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 2:

that they want to see yeah you don't give it to them right that doesn't um so some people or like

00:43:52 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 4:

if they already have like a hip replacement in and we have to like take it out put a new one in They'll ask for like their old one But I mean no we really do

00:44:01 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 2:

Bring it to a scrap yard You get money for that old one

00:44:05 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 4:

My favorite thing When people are coming out of anesthesia They'll be like oh how much bone did you have to take And I'll be like you want to look at it

00:44:14 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 2:

By the way How much bone did you have to take If you know what I mean

00:44:20 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 1:

You're ridiculous

00:44:23 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry Karen what's going on

00:44:27 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you know back in the day when you go to the dentist's office and they had the little toy box that kids can pick stuff out of when they got their teeth done, and they had that little treasure box? Yes. I still have my daughter's teeth inside the treasure box, and she'll be 33.

00:44:40 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What do you guys think you'll do with them one day? Make it into a necklace?

00:44:46 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't know when I pull them out.

00:44:47 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

Charm bracelet? That should be a charm bracelet.

00:44:51 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 1:

No. She just thinks I'm really weird that I still have them. I don't know what I'm going to do with them, but I still have them.

00:44:56 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Emily, hello.

00:44:59 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

00:45:00 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 6:

How y'all doing?

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 2:

We're all doing good. What's going on?

00:45:03 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 6:

So, sometimes I get ingrown toenails, and when I have to get them, like, surgically removed, I keep those.

00:45:10 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Why?

00:45:11 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 6:

It brings people out, and it's so fun.

00:45:14 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh. You carry them around with you?

00:45:16 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like, do you bring them out when you have people over, or what?

00:45:19 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 6:

Well, when I have people over, yeah. I don't just carry them in my pocket.

00:45:23 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

That'd be weird, yeah. It's in her wallet next to her MasterCard. Oh, what's that? I actually one time saw a woman pull out her wallet at a Kroger, and she had hair in her thing. It was her baby's first haircut. What's up, Lisa?

00:45:38 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 6:

Hey, guys. How are you?

00:45:40 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's going on?

00:45:42 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 6:

So I got four toes on each foot, and whenever I get a pedicure done, I'm always like, hey, so do I get 20% off? they just stare at me and now i i ran a marathon last year and unfortunately i lost like a toe nail oh yeah and now i only have six working nails right now and i'm like do i get 50 that's a great point that is a great point yeah yeah they just stare at me and like i'm like Well, I'm funny, but also, do I get to this guy?

00:46:18 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 5:

Ah, this weather is great. Ever wonder why we're dumb enough to live here this time of year? This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:46:29 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 3:

Starting off with a story about Miss Brittany, Brittany Spears, posting on Instagram. She was very excited about a sparkly new dress that she had just received and was also showing off a brand new Australian accent. Oh, no.

00:46:45 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so last week, guys, I made a dress. It's really proud, diamond panel, slip in the back. A girlfriend helped me sew it. They sent me a dress I didn't have to make myself. I can't think. I can't believe it. Yes. Okay, now I'm so proud. I didn't even have to make it myself. Thank you, company, for sending me this dress. Thank you. I just want you to know if I shut down my Instagram, do not call the cops. Don't ever be a rollercoaster. I got this dress as well. Never be a roller coaster!

00:47:18 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 5:

You want to see it?

00:47:19 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 3:

It's up on the dirty face.

00:47:20 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 5:

If someone's sitting in a room alone recording themselves doing goofy voices all day, well, they're either doing a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:27 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, wait a second.

00:47:30 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, boy.

00:47:31 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

They got engaged in Paris just about a year ago. And now Avril Lavigne and Monson are... Oh, Avril Lavigne.

00:47:39 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 5:

I got a song for her, too.

00:47:41 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they are no longer... Oh, no. Who gets engaged in Paris? Who? Oh, my God. Oh, boy. Can you play the Avril clip? This is Modson talking about their engagement.

00:47:53 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 1:

Paris is my favorite place in the world. She loves Paris, too. We have a connection over it. And the Eiffel Tower is always going to be there. And now we have a place that we can go to that, like, will always bring us back to that moment.

00:48:05 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 3:

So, sources close to the former couple say they tried really hard to make it work recently. They have been kind of sort on and off for the past couple of months. It just wasn't working. It wasn't right, and so they're not being specific as to what led to the split. I do know there was no cheating on either side, so the media can cool down.

00:48:21 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 5:

But the Eiffel Tower will always be there.

00:48:24 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, and remember, this news comes after those photos of Avril out with Tyga and a group of friends Sunday night in L.A. made their rounds on the Internet, so shrugging my shoulders. I don't know about that one. The Chrisley family is working on their next reality show while parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are behind bars. So their daughter, Savannah, said that she's talking to a few production companies about doing another show. I feel like they have three or four shows related to the family already. Stop it. Yeah. Stop it. Actually, a few production companies and a few networks have reached out about doing a show. And Savannah said, at the end of the day, we are not going to allow this to stop us from moving forward. To make money. Yeah, a federal judge, if you missed what had happened, a federal judge sentenced Todd and Julie Chrisley to a combined 19 years in prison for tax fraud. As a way to introduce more luxurious beverages into their lineup, Starbucks will now be selling drinks that are infused with olive oil. The new Oleato line, I think is how you pronounce it, intends to bring a quote-unquote velvety, smooth, delicately sweet, and lush coffee that uplifts each cup with an extraordinary new flavor and texture.

00:49:38 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 5:

This is a big, bold move to roll this out worldwide because I know in Europe it's been a trend for a little while. In Italy specifically. And, I mean, here I've done like the bullet coffees where you put the grass-fed butter and a little drop of oil in there. Or like a coconut oil. Yeah. A scoop of coconut oil. But olive oil, it affects the taste, and also it adds like 300 calories.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 3:

to the drink just to have that little table spoon.

00:50:02 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, how expensive is it going to be?

00:50:04 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 3:

That's the other thing, right? Because with the supply chain right now, olive oil is not cheap.

00:50:08 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so SoCal is going to be the first American region to get the drink this spring. Yeah, and then it'll move this way. And just a reminder for you all this week, in the 930 Dirty, we're qualifying you for an all-expenses-paid trip to the Oscars and hooking you up with a $50 cash card just for qualifying. 00:50:35 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Fault Cams and War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:50:46 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. On Channel 955 in Detroit, 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids and 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo. What did you use instead of toilet paper?

00:51:01 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 3:

A tampon. What?

00:51:05 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 2:

To wipe your butt?

00:51:06 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 3:

I was in a jam. There was no toilet paper. Well, I had to think of something. What were you going to use? I remember somebody on this show. Was it you, Shannon? Somebody said they used a sock once.

00:51:15 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 2:

I didn't use a sock, but I have on more than one occasion used a bounce dryer sheet that was in my garbage.

00:51:20 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

00:51:21 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there's chemicals on that. Well. No. Well, if it's been in the garbage for a period of time, the chemicals might have worn out. Oh, my gosh. I would never put that on your private. And your booty now is April Fresh. What is the slogan for balance?

00:51:35 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. What is the slogan for balance? I don't know. Yeah.

00:51:39 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

You don't have it.

00:51:40 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 2:

That's what my butt smells like in case you ever want to.

00:51:42 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 4:

You walk in the studio and you start shocking us all the time. You need to start using that more often now because that will probably help against the shocks that we get.

00:51:50 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 3:

What do you use when you don't have any toilet paper? I was stuck in a situation. I slept over in my girlfriend's house this weekend Where I realized After I did my business There was no toilet paper So I went looking under her sink And I'm like, there's nothing here And I didn't want to use One of her towels or something Because I would probably do that in my own house The relationship is too new I'm not going to ruin one of her towels I'm not going to scoot across your carpet Like my dog when he has to wipe his butthole So I realized Oh, well, there's tampons in here. I can just do the applicator thing, you know, push the plunger thing and use the cotton tampon. Wait, you didn't flush them down the toilet, did you? No. What did you do? Well, her trash can was lined with a plastic trash bag, so I knew I can then just take the whole thing and put it in the trash. Good Lord.

00:52:43 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 4:

How long have you been dating this girl? Eight months. That you have to, you went poop at her house, you used up her tampons, which, by the way, are expensive, aren't they?

00:52:53 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're pretty expensive. That's not as expensive as throwing out a hand towel.

00:52:58 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 4:

And then you walked out. Why did you not scream to her?

00:53:02 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 3:

She was still asleep. She sleeps with her son in his room when I sleep over. So I have my own room, and then she sleeps with him. So I didn't want to scream and alarm anybody and wake. And it's opposite sides of the apartment.

00:53:15 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 4:

Do you know where she keeps things in her place?

00:53:18 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was not going to run naked through her apartment for fear of the sun coming out and being awake or whatever. because he's an early riser. Pants around the ankles. Yeah. Could you imagine?

00:53:28 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 4:

Pants around the ankles and duty coming right out of your booty?

00:53:31 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Like I said, I was trying to, like, quickly and quietly take care of the situation myself.

00:53:40 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 4:

By the way, is that not the worst thing to happen in a relationship when you're dating? To go to the bathroom and they don't have toilet? That was a four-alarm fire.

00:53:48 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 3:

I was like, I got to take care of all this.

00:53:50 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 2:

That's why I just don't poop in those situations.

00:53:54 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Nature called, and I was like, okay, I got to take care of all this.

00:53:59 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 2:

Suck it back in.

00:54:00 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 4:

What color sheets, or not sheets, but what color towels does she have?

00:54:05 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 3:

She's got those horrible, those Turkish towels, or real fancy ones that I don't know how to describe them.

00:54:11 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

What color are they?

00:54:12 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 3:

Like off-white.

00:54:14 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay, because that would ruin them.

00:54:15 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 3:

No, I was not going to do that to her towels.

00:54:17 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 4:

Because then you could throw a load in.

00:54:20 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

Let's throw a load in.

00:54:21 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 4:

Throw a load in the washing machine.

00:54:24 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 3:

No, I just wanted to take care of business, put it out in the trash can. The washing machine, exactly.

00:54:31 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 4:

I'm a Midwesterner.

00:54:32 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

Got it out in her trash can before anyone even knew I was awake. Hey, listener Megan, what's going on?

00:54:38 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 1:

Hi, you guys just made me think of the movie Along Came Polly when Ben Stiller had to use the toilet and there's no toilet paper. so he used Jennifer Aniston's grandmother's doily towel to wipe his butt and clogged the toilet. I forgot about that.

00:54:54 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. It's my worst nightmare.

00:54:56 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 1:

It's like my favorite scene.

00:54:58 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, and I would, like... maybe i would have just used i didn't even have like a i had one change of clothes we were going to our broadcast that morning so i didn't even have like where i can if i was just going home maybe i would have used my boxers and then just threw them out or put them wrapped them up and taken them home to wash but i was going i needed the every every all the clothes i was wearing i

00:55:21 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 2:

needed to wear to our broadcast if you used your boxers you would have taken them home and washed them you wouldn't have just thrown them away it depends on then there's poopy boxers in her garbage

00:55:32 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

can i would yeah it's a lose-lose yeah i can't leave any evidence in like so i i was like it depend on also very clean poopy it was like one of those uh what do you call it the ghost poops where you really didn't probably didn't even need that to wipe if if all things but i had to make

00:55:48 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

sure was it a full bath or a half bath uh full bath get in the shower weirdo i had already

00:55:55 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 3:

I was ready. Like in 10 minutes, I was leaving for our morning show broadcast.

00:55:58 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 2:

There's not a limit on how many showers you can take. Take another one.

00:56:01 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't have the time to reshower, re-get dressed, all that stuff.

00:56:05 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 2:

So I got a lot of investigative questions on this one. All right? I love this. Because honestly, this is one of those things where I always want to...

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

I assessed the situation as quickly and thoroughly as I could.

00:56:18 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on. Investigative questions.

00:56:20 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:56:21 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 2:

So you pooped in her toilet. She did not have toilet paper You used her tampons You threw them in the bag

00:56:28 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 3:

Just one, it was such a clean wipe I realized I was in a good situation

00:56:31 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

Here's a question You say that you took the bag out Did you go to the Does she live in a house or an apartment?

00:56:40 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I took the bag She lives in an apartment

00:56:42 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 2:

So what did you do with the bag?

00:56:44 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 3:

I took the bag with me And then when I stopped for coffee on the way to our broadcast It went in the dumpster In your clean car, you neat freak It was in a plastic bag tied and locked at the top. Could you smell? No. No, and I took it to the dumpster by the coffee place. Are you saying your poop don't stink? It wasn't poop. It was so clean, there was no remnants.

00:57:08 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 2:

Which dumpster was this? I want people to know what dumpster you're dumping your duty in.

00:57:12 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 3:

I left a gift in the city of Lake Orion. I appreciate you guys, but it was just convenient.

00:57:18 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's the worst.

00:57:20 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's an emergency. see it's not my normal habit i just i hadn't i was stuck in a in a situation you're an extremely

00:57:28 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 2:

anal retentive person no pun intended but are you anal retentive over the fact that she does not have a spare toilet uh roll uh in the bathroom like did you guys have a conversation because i well

00:57:39 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 3:

we didn't have a conversation about yet i'll just ask her next time i'm there i'll go oh i noticed your there's no toilet paper because i didn't want to associate it with the crime scene and what happened because then she would notice, wait a minute, she might connect, where'd the plastic bag go in the trash can? And then I'm going to have to confess to my crime.

00:57:55 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 2:

You shouldn't have talked about this on the radio

00:57:57 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 3:

because if you... She's going to roast you.

00:58:00 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the thing. She thinks, oh, he took my garbage out. What a nice guy.

00:58:04 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 3:

You know what would be worse than that? If she thought, why did he use one of my tampons? There's one missing. I never thought about that. What kind of freaky stuff is he into?

00:58:14 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 2:

I hate, by the way, when I go to people's homes and they don't have, like, the extra roll somewhere in the toilet.

00:58:22 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 3:

If you come to my apartment, I have 20 rolls under each sink in all the bathrooms because I just, first of all, we all bought way too much toilet paper last year. But also, I don't ever want anyone to be in that situation. Like, there's always going to be extras for you.

00:58:37 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like it. I like when they have it and they keep it there and they even have, like, the decorative thing that covers up the roll.

00:58:44 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 3:

Grandma used to crochet the little thing.

00:58:46 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Or if you're saying a hotel and how the hotel has one behind, it's kind of nice when that happens. It's all wrapped up. People need to have that in bathrooms.

00:58:58 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 1:

One of these days, karma's going to catch up to Spike for all his phone scams. But laugh at it anyway. It's this morning at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:07 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I want to bring this up because I saw this and I know that there's a number of our listeners that do it. But there is a study that just came out, and it's because a lot of people are getting sick. Letting your dog lick your face or eat from your plate. Study found 15% of pets and owners are carrying this super bug right now. And it's because of the sharing of the plates or letting them do it, and it's not getting completely cleaned off. or it's them licking the face. Researchers believe that the spread is caused by letting them lick your face or shear your plates, and despite the potential risk of the superbugs, there are people that are still doing it. And I don't think that people even know about it.

01:00:00 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 5:

include by the way uh changing your blood pressure uh there's people that have had you know changing their blood pressure and also there are people that uh have gotten viruses from their animals

01:00:09 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 4:

because a lot of people have this misnomer that oh a dog's mouth is cleaner than a toilet seat you know you hear these things go around kind of urban legends but certain animals also carry these resistant bacteria in in their gastro that we can't handle like they're you know they're I mean, the bugs cannot be killed with our normal treatment.

01:00:34 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 5:

Are there any listeners that have gotten sick and they didn't know how they got sick, but quite possibly it could be from their animal or maybe they did get sick from their animal? I know people that do this, and I do think I agree with what Megan was like, the gross and stuff.

01:00:50 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 6:

It's so gross to me that people let their dogs lick their face. I don't get it. And I'm a dog owner. I think it's disgusting.

01:00:56 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, lick your face is okay. Not your lips or your eyeballs. No, I think it's gross.

01:01:01 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 5:

Kiss your cheeks okay. By the way, they are eating their fecal matter, right? Aren't they when they're going out and about?

01:01:08 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I watch Charlie lick his nuts all the time. Yeah. Like, you're not coming by my cheek.

01:01:13 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I don't know. I think it's something to at least be aware of. I mean, what would you do if you were dating somebody or you're in a relationship with somebody and the person, like, kisses their animal, like, on the mouth.

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 1:

Ugh, no. And then comes to kiss you.

01:01:33 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 5:

And then goes and kisses you.

01:01:35 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 4:

Red flag. Like, I wouldn't do that. Yeah.

01:01:37 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 6:

How do they say they have the cleanest mouths, then? They don't. It's a lie.

01:01:41 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Is it? Yeah.

01:01:43 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:01:43 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 1:

At the cleanest balls.

01:01:50 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 5:

Texter's texting in here right now. Too embarrassed to call in. This is from 419. Too embarrassed to call in, but I ended up getting a bacterial infection from my dog. Another texter here says, and they won't answer their phone when we're trying to call them. Notice people won't call for something like this. But said that they kiss their dog on the mouth all the time. And they one time got a cold sore that was a bacterial cold sore. Could you get a cold sore from your, you get herpes from your dog? I guess you can.

01:02:28 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 4:

What's up? That sounds like somebody who did something wrong and they're trying to hide it. Yeah, no, I got it from the dog, yeah.

01:02:34 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 5:

Andrea, what's up?

01:02:36 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 2:

Hi, we just recently got a new puppy from an adoption agency, and I ended up with a campylobacter infection from the dog's poop. Puppy steps in poop outside, runs through your house, and you pick it up.

01:02:52 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Wait, how did you get the infection? Did it crawl through your skin or how did you get it?

01:02:58 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 2:

No, I must have gotten it in my mouth somehow.

01:03:01 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Oh, my gosh.

01:03:03 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 2:

But it put me in the hospital. It's like a really bad food poisoning.

01:03:07 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:03:08 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 2:

And it put me in the hospital for two days. They had to pump me through with potassium. My potassium level went down to 1.8, normal 5.

01:03:19 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 4:

It's really dangerous and can be deadly for pregnant women, too. And the thing about licking plates, because I would always let Dublin lick plates and forks and stuff, it's okay if you're putting them in the automatic dishwasher that's going to go high heat for a long amount of time. If you just wash your dishes by hand, that's not enough to kill some bacteria like salmonella.

01:03:38 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 5:

I like this one. 248, definitely not calling in and don't call me, but my wife and I got worms from our dogs. Oh, my God. is that you d yeah yeah what's going on d what did you get i didn't get sick my daughter uh i

01:04:01 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 3:

have a cat that we've had since like for like 14 years he's like 72 years old i was calling grand daddy um he drinks out of the toilet like he refuses to drink anything else i put water in his bowl so i used to think like oh maybe it's just from scaldish so i send his water and everything And he refuses. He has to drink out the toilet. He'll come to my room and, like, meow at the door. Like, I'm like, dude, what's wrong? And I see all the toilets in the house as well. So I just go lift the toilet. And he'll instantly start drinking out the toilet. And my daughter allows him to lick on her face.

01:04:30 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gross.

01:04:31 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 3:

He, like, licks the toilet?

01:04:34 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:04:34 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 3:

People poo there.

01:04:36 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 5:

People do poo there. Thank you for the call.

01:04:41 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 1:

No problem.

01:04:42 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 5:

Bye. Sheila thought she had COVID, but what actually was it, Sheila?

01:04:47 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my husband and I both had COVID a year ago. And since then, we have this taste of metal in our mouth. Like, it's almost like you have...

01:05:00 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 7:

We have a penny underneath your tongue, a paste of metal in our mouth, and a runny nose. And we thought it was from COVID, but now that you're saying this, I never heard this before. I'm kind of thinking maybe it's because we have a new puppy, and we do let him eat off our plates. And I used to always wash my dishes with bleach water in the sink, but I've been just putting them in the dishwasher, you know, not hitting bleach in it. So maybe, maybe this is what this is. I'm sorry. I don't know.

01:05:31 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 3:

I can't get past you. You called it worse. I love it.

01:05:35 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 7:

My favorite thing.

01:05:36 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 3:

When you wash your dishes. You worse your dishes.

01:05:40 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 7:

What? Wash the dishes? No.

01:05:42 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 3:

No, I love worse. That's my favorite. I love it. I'm sorry. No, I love it. Thank you. Yeah, you should ask that question to your doctor. You should see what your doctor says. But definitely put your dishes in the dishwasher. Aaron, what's going on?

01:05:55 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 4:

Good afternoon, buddy. How's it going?

01:05:57 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Hey, it's going good. Aaron, you dated a girl that, what was the story?

01:06:02 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I actually met her in high school, but we went to college together and kind of started dating in college. And I knew she had a dog, and, you know, the dog was always around. It was the thing of hers that she had. And one night we were sitting, and the dog just kind of licked her in the mouth. And, you know, she was kind of looking at the dog like she was expecting another. And I'm like, this is, you know, kind of awkward. I haven't even had the first kiss yet, you know. And the dog is just, like, making out. like wait what's up you know and uh it was kind of awkward you know i never called back and it got more awkward because i played in the outdoor summer league that year for basketball and she came and she had the dog and she approached me like hey you know that was kind of awkward you know what happened and i just i straight told her you know like how am i supposed to kiss you behind the dog and it's kind of similar like to what someone else said like the dog has the cleanest Not to clean a smile You know So it's like I can't do it I'm sorry I just can't do it

01:06:58 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 3:

No matter how hot she is You're not letting her Plant a kiss on you

01:07:01 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 4:

She was hot man But I just I couldn't How did she act

01:07:04 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 1:

After you told her You wouldn't kiss her After the dog kissed her

01:07:07 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

I mean honestly She acted like she didn't care Like you know She could find a guy That would accept it She was getting too much

01:07:14 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Affection from that dog Thank you for the call buddy Take care Thank you man

01:07:19 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 2:

01:10:25 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 5:

01:10:30 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 6:

01:10:37 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 5:

We will, we will scam you If I could say anything I wanted to I'd say that was f***ing funny s*** right there I don't care who you are It's the home of the world famous phone scams Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:20 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. I was going to say their names, but I'm not going to. But they're people that are really close to us on this show, their husband and wife. And they have a really interesting relationship. And I actually envy them for the fact that they really love the hell out of each other. But they do some things that are kind of, to me, I don't know. They're like, some of them are really cool, and then some of them are really weird. Like, for instance, they do a lot of role playing, and these are professional people. And they were telling us a story about what they did last weekend, Chelsea and I. Their role playing that they did last weekend was they faked an affair. They ended up getting a room and doing a staycation at one of the hotels here in town. They met at the hotel by going into the hotel bar lobby, you know, the lobby bar, and then flirting with people that were sitting at the hotel lobby bar, including other people, and then eventually meeting each other and then flirting with each other and then going up into the hotel room and pretending like they picked each other up in the bar and then, you know, screwing. And I thought to myself, that is really, like, that's an unbelievable effort. Maybe we should shut that door because now we got our favorite friend next door slamming doors and stuff. Although shutting the door probably is not going to help with that. But I was trying to picture this because they're telling us a story And Chelsea's got her mouth wide open, and she's dumbfounded listening to this story because Chelsea's like, there is no way in hell I would ever do this. And I'm the whole time going, God, this would be so awesome. Chelsea said she would want to do it. But the craziest part of the thing is they'll flirt with other people that are at the bar. Couldn't do that. And I would have a hard time seeing Chelsea flirting with some dude, you know what I mean, that is sitting at the bar. But isn't it kind of exciting, Mike? Wouldn't it be exciting to, like, pretend that you and Allie actually met each other in the bar and then you meet this, you know, woman, strange woman, and go and have sex with her?

01:14:43 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

We've done that. You have? We've done that, but not the flirting with other people part. That part is, I couldn't do that. That part's hard to me. And also the fact that they include the storyline that it's an affair. Yeah. Yeah. Like, why couldn't they just meet each other for the quote-unquote first time? Yeah, that's what we...

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 1:

They're like, all right, whatever.

01:15:02 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, the affair is, they don't say we're having the affair. The affair part is that they know, they both know that they're married people. And in their head, they're flirting with the other people. Like, oh, we're being illicit and kind of weird and stuff like that.

01:15:16 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 1:

I think I would get in my head that, is this how my person would act if he were having an affair? You know what I mean? I'm so in my head all the time anyway. It would screw me up even more than I'm already screwed up.

01:15:27 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, let me just tell you this. the part that I would be having a problem with is if Chelsea liked the guy that was flirting with her at the bar.

01:15:35 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't come over to talk to you.

01:15:38 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 3:

I would love to know. This would be something kind of wild because I'm not a role-playing type of person. Chelsea and I don't do that.

01:15:45 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever?

01:15:46 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 3:

No, we've never role-played at all. No. I mean, it's, you know, if we did role-play, Chelsea would role-play that I was like a really clean guy. Like I would clean up the house And I was, you know, this guy came into the house that was actually there to clean things up. Like, she would be like, and then next thing I know, it would be like a trick on me for her to get me to do, like, work around the house and try to pick up after myself. What's the craziest role playing that you have ever done with your significant other, with your spouse? Mike, you say that you guys have done this role playing. Have you guys done any other role playing?

01:16:20 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 2:

Um, let me think. No, that's honestly, that's been like the only one. Costumes?

01:16:24 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 3:

Hotel stuff?

01:16:25 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 2:

We wore costumes, I guess, but it was like Halloween, so we were just in the costumes.

01:16:29 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 3:

So not just on a normal Tuesday?

01:16:31 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no.

01:16:33 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 3:

Joe, are you there? Yeah, I'm here. Hi, are you a role-playing type guy? Do you have a role-playing relationship?

01:16:42 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 5:

No, I wish I did. I mean, I think it's live. I think it's well-needed in marriages.

01:16:47 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

I think every guy listening to this show would love if their spouse would role-play. I think it's the women that don't want to do the role-playing. Do you agree?

01:16:55 - 01:16:55 | Unknown:

Exactly.

01:16:56 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 5:

Yep, yep. I mean, that's what I was just saying. Like, the whole War of the Roses situation, guys, you guys just talked about. I think if role-playing was included in a lot of these marriages, you wouldn't have these problems. I agree.

01:17:08 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 3:

I do agree with that.

01:17:10 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 5:

That's the honest-to-God truth that a lot of men want. But, you know, like you said, the women ain't really for it, and I understand why.

01:17:17 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you, if you're that bored that you have to do that, and you say your marriage wouldn't survive without it, aren't you eventually going to get bored of that? No. And then what's next?

01:17:24 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 5:

No, no, not at all. You can come home as Fred Flintstone one day. You know, it all gets new. That would be the greatest role-playing. As a power ranger. That's just what every woman was.

01:17:34 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 3:

You're Fred Flintstone, and she's what, Wilma? Wasn't his wife Wilma? Question for you, though, honestly, Joe, what would be role-playing that you would like to do with your wife?

01:17:47 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man, I never think I thought of it. I don't know. Probably Power Rangers or something like that. Power Rangers. Bring it up to her and see what she says tonight. I'll be the Green Ranger, you know?

01:18:03 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 3:

Missy, hi.

01:18:05 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:18:07 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Oh, turn your radio down, okay, Missy? You're going to listen to it. Missy, what role-playing do you and your husband do?

01:18:15 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 6:

See, we act in murder mysteries, so when we're done, we have fun still in character. Like one time we did cross-dresser's ball, and he was dressed as a female, and we role-played, and I was the male. Wait, but you kill each other in your role-play? I never had to kill him in the murder mystery, but, yeah, we just stay in our characters.

01:18:41 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 4:

You wouldn't want to take my work home with me if you do that all day at the office.

01:18:45 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. He was the woman, and you were the guy in the role-play? Yes. Yes, I was. What did that feel like? Was that fun?

01:18:55 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 6:

It was a little weird. I'll be honest. I was a little weird at all. But we made fun with it. So, yeah.

01:19:01 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 3:

Hey, question for you on the whole murder thing where you got murdered. Did you have, like, the greatest orgasm ever that night?

01:19:12 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 6:

We're going to leave the fifth there.

01:19:14 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay. It wasn't very good, I guess. He killed you that way, too.

01:19:19 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:19:20 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, poor guy. Well, he had a lot of things on his mind. He was killing his wife. What's up, Shelly?

01:19:27 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 7:

Hey, good morning. How are you?

01:19:28 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Good. Shelly, you guys role play? Well, heck yeah. Why not? Tell us what role play that you've done.

01:19:35 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 7:

Oh, all sorts of stuff. You know, cowboy, pick me up in a bar, pretend we don't know each other. Fireman, fire girl, rent a fire truck. You can rent a fire truck for a couple hours.

01:19:45 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 4:

Man, that's a lot of work to get laid. You're going to rent a fire truck? You guys rent a fire?

01:19:49 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 3:

Where can you rent a fire truck? I want to rent a fire truck.

01:19:52 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, how much? It depends on how many hours you rent it for and if the driver stays with the truck or not. Wait.

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 2:

The driver could be part of the whole role-playing?

01:20:03 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, he'll leave the truck.

01:20:05 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:20:06 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

This is great. You have to pay extra for the fireman to leave the truck in your yard when you rent it.

01:20:11 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 5:

And does he know that you're going to hump on top of the fire truck?

01:20:15 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 4:

You know, I don't disclose that information. I just pay for the truck and let him come pick it up, and I'm done.

01:20:21 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 2:

I tried to get Chelsea to do the whole cowboy thing. I said to her, I'm going to be Rip, you be Beth from Yellowstone. Right. And I put that hat on.

01:20:30 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 1:

She'd just drink herself to sleep.

01:20:31 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 2:

She'd just laugh her ass off. She'd laugh so hard. I'm telling you, I think I'm a good-looking cowboy. I really am.

01:20:39 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 4:

I think you'd be a great-looking cowboy. I can totally see it.

01:20:42 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. And a fireman, too, if you need me to ever come and hang out with the fire truck. What's going on, Amber? Hi, Mojo. Hi. You guys role play?

01:20:52 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 5:

I don't anymore because of what I did. Uh-oh. Oh, boy. Oh, I love this story already. we decided to meet at a bar this was fairly new into our relationship and we met at a bar by his house and he was going to be sitting at one of those machines where you play games on them and so i was a little drunk already and i walked up in the bar like a boss and went to this man that was on the machine playing and kissed him on the back of his neck. Oh. Oh. It was not my boyfriend. Oh, my God. Wow. Oh, my God.

01:21:39 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what did you say to him?

01:21:42 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 5:

I was like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I thought you were my boyfriend. And he's like, oh, you're good, you're good. you can keep going wow and my boyfriend did not stop me he's like three stools down i'm like why didn't you tell me that you were not sitting at the stool playing the game so i'm like let's go he's like no no no you're gonna stay here and you're gonna you're gonna deal with this so we

01:22:13 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 2:

sat there for a while thank god he has a good sense of humor that's cool that it was great that But I know you've got to be freaked out by that

01:22:20 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome We tried to take the bartender home with us

01:22:24 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh my lord These guys are fun All you're missing is a fire truck Last call I've got to grab this one Jonathan caught his mom Role playing Jonathan

01:22:37 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 5:

Tell us a story and then we're going to pay for your counseling

01:22:42 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I love you guys man I came over to visit my mom, and she came to the door with a band on and a feather and a rope. And she says, what do you want? I said, well, I'm just coming over to visit. She said, Dad's got to be home in five minutes. Get the hell out of here. I didn't go back for two weeks. We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:23:23 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 2:

You're home of the phone scams. Dirty on the 30, War of the Roses, Second Date Update, Throwback Throwdown, Five Lies Tell Your Mom. A lot of stuff. Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys here with us today. I feel like, Shannon, this could be somewhat traumatizing.

01:23:45 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 1:

Yep, I think so, too.

01:23:46 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 2:

But I'm not saying that because of you. I'm saying that because of you don't expect that you're going to end up seeing this person naked.

01:23:54 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Nope. So Lucy had a play date over the weekend. She actually had a play date with a few kids she wanted to come over, which any parent knows this. Play dates are actually easier for you because it occupies your children. Okay? Because they have friends over, and so they're, like, very, very busy playing with their friends. So Lucy had a couple friends over, two little boys and a little girl, and they were all playing hide and go seek. So this went on for a while. I needed to hop in the shower, which is fine. I knew they would be fine. I hopped in the shower, got out, and I do my normal shower routine. This is how I do it every time. I wrap a towel around my hair. I start doing my makeup. I'm naked, by the way. I then dry my hair, put my clothes on, and then style my hair. every day. That's the order that I do it in. Well, as I'm in the middle of doing all of this, one of Lucy's friends, one of the two little boys that was at my house, opens the door to the bathroom. No. As I only have a towel on my head and nothing else. Oh, no. I stare at him.

01:25:00 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 2:

He stares at me. His eyes get very, very wide. I actually screamed, oh, no. And he shut the door really fast. And my heart was beating, and I'm like, oh, my God. I cannot believe that just happened. I have to call his mom. Thank you, God. She's one of my very, very best friends. But still, I have to explain that her 7-year-old little boy just saw me naked.

01:25:23 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 1:

You are about to be a story in a young man's life for the rest of his life. Oh, yeah, Miss Murphy.

01:25:29 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 2:

I felt awful about it. Oh, my God. And that's the first thing I thought, too, is I probably scarred this little kid for life. And my friend was so great. She's like, oh, I walk around naked in front of him all the time. I'm like, but you're his mom. I am not his mom. And it wasn't pretty. He thought that, so he's been to my house many times before, but he had never been upstairs. So he was trying, I even asked afterwards, he thought that it was a door to a closet. He didn't realize that it was my bathroom And that's why he opened it He thought he was going to hide out in the closet

01:26:02 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 1:

If I know people are over, I won't get naked Oh, see, I have no shame But now I do Like, I won't, you know Like, if I know, I'll change my shower routine Like, if I know that there are people that are there Like, I will get out of the shower, dry myself off And I will quickly put on my clothes Just because I do have the fear that an unsuspecting guest would come walking in.

01:26:29 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 2:

I didn't think that. I have no locks on any of the doors in my home. So that's why that didn't happen. But it was really fun. It was a great play date.

01:26:38 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

Question to the listeners here. When you were a child, who did you see naked that you shouldn't have seen? Did anybody see their mom's, their friend's mom naked? I just think, When I think of my friends' moms, I think of Mrs. Gorski, Mrs. Barrett, Mrs. Yeager. And I don't think of Shannon, you know what I mean?

01:27:03 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, I just think of it like that.

01:27:04 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't think of that. I think of the mom, like a mom, you know what I mean?

01:27:07 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, I am a mom. Well, you are.

01:27:08 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 1:

But at that age, we looked at all moms that way. At that age, you're not thinking there's young and attractive moms. You're just thinking they're all moms.

01:27:15 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 2:

They came over again yesterday just to drop something off. And I was like, couldn't even look at them.

01:27:20 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 1:

Did the kid look at you in a weird way at all?

01:27:24 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

He didn't. Not at all, but I still feel weird about it.

01:27:28 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's going to be ingrained. The kid's going to call up a radio show someday. Who knows? Maybe even ours. Maybe we'll be on that many years from now. And we'll ask, who's the strangest person that you saw naked when you were a kid? And the kid's going to say, I saw my friend Lucy's mom. I don't know if he's going to talk like that, but he might say it.

01:27:47 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 2:

Her chest looked just like mine. I still remember.

01:27:50 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 1:

Amanda?

01:27:53 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi, yeah.

01:27:54 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Who did you see naked?

01:27:57 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, he wasn't fully naked, but we went on a cruise for a spring break, and someone went for a break, so my friend Stan had to go with us, and her dad was wearing a Speedo, and his situation came out. No.

01:28:11 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

01:28:12 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 2:

His balls came out of the Speedo?

01:28:14 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You're kidding me. No. Just the balls?

01:28:19 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Mom.

01:28:21 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 1:

How?

01:28:22 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 3:

To the side, and it, yeah.

01:28:24 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, how did Mike ask a good question? How did they, a Speedo seems like it would be tight around there. Yeah, it should contain everything and hold it in place.

01:28:32 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 3:

So do, right? But no, and I have never said anything. I've just ignored it all the time. I'm still friends with her. And yeah.

01:28:41 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, but you'll never get that image out of your brain.

01:28:45 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Never.

01:28:46 - 01:28:47 | Unknown:

Never, ever.

01:28:47 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 1:

I remember, and I think I've told this story a million times, as a matter of fact, recently, but I remember going with my dad to the health club, the Riviera Country Club health club, and sitting in the whirlpool with all of these grown men naked, you know, and these guys were all naked. And one of the guys that was inside of that Whirlpool was Mr. Smetana, who is our neighbor down the street, who was rather large. And not large, like he was. In stature tall, or you mean just everywhere? No, he was a skinny man with a large. Oh, you must have a very big penis. Really? And you still remember. And I still remember, well, I remember how large it was. So I was like, holy jeez, I didn't realize it looked like another arm. And then I thought to myself, he's much larger than my dad. My poor father had to sit next to Mr. Smith-Dana in the hot tub. Rebecca, hi. Hi, how are you? Love you guys. Love you, too. Hey, hold on. I've got to get one.

01:29:51 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too.

01:29:52 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

There you go. What's up?

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

So my phone broke, and my mother-in-law said, hey, let me, you know, I have a Blackberry.

01:30:00 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 2:

news well she never deleted any of the photos and her husband was a truck driver and i went to go open it and there was full frontal picture of him in the truck completely butt naked and i about dropped him through the phone at my husband and said i am scarred for life family dinner is never

01:30:20 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

going to be the same oh god it's tough to it's at that point you don't ever make eye contact with

01:30:26 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 2:

them ever again no and then i called her i was like did you forget to do something and she just

01:30:31 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 5:

started laughing um allison who did you see naked hi how are you guys i love you every morning thank you so when i was younger probably six years old my mom had a friend who used to get us into her community pool and she was eastern european and we were changing uh in the women's locker room, and she got full-blown naked in front of us, and it was the first time I had seen a full-blown bush in my entire life. I had no idea what it was, and I had to go home and ask my mother. I was like, why? It's like, is she a pet for women?

01:31:16 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

It's alarming. You gotta love those Eastern European women, don't you? They kind of just let it all go. Good for her.

01:31:23 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 5:

So, Shannon, that little boy is never going to forget you. Oh, God. I don't know.

01:31:28 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait, he saw that, too?

01:31:31 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 8:

Well, so he saw my butt because that's what was facing him when he walked in. But when I turned to look, he saw everything. Ta-da!

01:31:39 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Sheila says that her son's friend saw her naked. Mom, Sheila, what's going on?

01:31:47 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I just wanted to let you guys know, my son and his buddy were teenagers, and they were at my house, and they left. So I do like Shannon. I took my shower, and then I walked out of my bedroom into the hallway because I thought I was home alone. And I had no shirt on, but I had my lower extremities covered. And the kid opened the door and looked at me, and I looked at him and freaked out. So they were teenagers, so I called his mom to tell him. So she was like, fine, everything's okay. And then that night I get a call from the dad. And I said, oh, my God, what's wrong, Dave? And he goes, I need to come and see the traumatic thing that my son saw.

01:32:26 - 01:32:28 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

01:32:29 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 3:

He wants to know how badly he was scarred. And I'm like, dying.

01:32:34 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 6:

Nice try.

01:32:36 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 1:

Dying. Ah, Dave, you perverted bastard. But good try. What's up, Mallory?

01:32:42 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 4:

hey so i have worked at the same place for like 15 years um and i was applying for an internal transfer so i had interviewed with a manager had another interview coming up in the meantime went camping with my family was getting out of the shower at the campground wrapping my towel around

01:33:02 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 8:

me and there stands the manager i'm interviewing with oh wow oh god that's a bad one i was trying

01:33:09 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 4:

to act like I didn't see her. And she's like, hey, how are you? And I'm like, oh, God. Didn't get the job probably based on what she saw. Oh, that's what I was wondering.

01:33:21 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 1:

I always hate going to the Planet Fitness by my house because sometimes I'll actually, in the locker rooms, run into my neighbors. It's weird to see your neighbors sometimes naked. You know what I mean? Like this one here. Actually, Justin, who was your neighbor? I was my school counselor, actually. Oh, my gosh. So your school counselor lived in your neighborhood.

01:33:38 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 7:

and you saw them naked uh yeah it was one time i actually was walking to school and uh walking to the bus actually and it was a snowy day like it is today here in michigan and uh straight up just was walking by our house and walked by our house every day no no problems and then one day we walked by and the window was wide open oh boy oh yeah and her and her The three daughters were in there completely naked, all of them. All of them were naked?

01:34:08 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 3:

What were they doing all night together?

01:34:10 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 7:

All of them. Getting ready for work and school and everything. They're all about my age and younger. Oh, my gosh.

01:34:16 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Oh, God. You didn't stay there and watch for a while. As a teenage boy, I think some teenage boys would probably stay there.

01:34:23 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 7:

Maybe a little, just to make sure you're seeing what you're seeing. You know what? The thing was is I did walk away after a moment.

01:34:30 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 1:

After a moment?

01:34:31 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 7:

It was blurry that entire day.

01:34:34 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 1:

I text her 248 to ask a question. What did Lucy say about it?

01:34:40 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 8:

So Lucy thought it was absolutely hysterical. And then when Andrew came to get her, he's been out of town. So when he came to get her and Smith yesterday to take them to his house for the evening. Their dad, yeah? Very first thing. Hey, dad. Guess what mom did? So it's going to be gossip for the next couple of days. It'll be the talk of the name. It's the story.

01:34:59 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:35:00 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 5:

How am I supposed to live, laugh, and love in these conditions? This is Mojo in the Morning. From the Staples Traffic Center. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:35:11 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, going to start off with a little Mariah Carey. Kim Kardashian. It's kind of random. I wasn't aware they were friends. Maybe you were, but Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey appear with their daughters in a new TikTok video. That's making the rounds. The mamas filmed a dance video with Northwest. and Monroe. And they're dancing specifically to Mariah's song It's a Rap. And then Mariah and Kim step in to lip sync with hairbrushes, but are pushed away by their kids who just want to keep dancing.

01:35:44 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you the cool part about this Tic Tac thing? Is that Kim and North have their own Tic Tac page and the comments are always disabled. Well, Kim posted a Tic Tac on her own page with North and it allowed

01:35:56 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 5:

comments. Oh no. How were they?

01:35:58 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, no. I don't think you realize TikTok is obsessed with Northwest and is very supportive. Oh, good. And so there are all of these other pages dedicated to being like, we just want to tell her how much we love her and her creativity. So finally, we got a post with comments, and it's just like the nicest part of the internet. Oh, I love that.

01:36:15 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 2:

I'm happy that it's positive. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:36:18 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 5:

But you don't think that would last, right? I mean, once the trolls find out.

01:36:21 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't think it would last because the internet is terrible. Yes. But it was nice for the moment.

01:36:26 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

When Liam Neeson appeared on the view last week, excuse me, a big part of his time there consisted of the co-host discussing how Joy Behar has this huge, huge crush on him. Okay?

01:36:42 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 3:

No secret that Joy thinks you're the hottest and the greatest ever. I just like to have my ashes sprinkled over Liam Neeson. There's room in my heart for Steve, and for Liam Neeson, let's say. I mean, Liam Neeson right now, of those kidnapping movies that he does, get me so aroused, I can't even get into that.

01:37:05 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 2:

So, Rolling Stone interviews Liam Neeson this week, and he said he was actually really, really uncomfortable the entire time. He said it was not a good experience for him because of how uncomfortable he was with what went down.

01:37:21 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 5:

Because if you're role reversed, if, like, we were doing an interview and... Should be canceled. Yeah, and I had Olivia Rodrigo sitting here or something, and I kept gushing on just how turned on I was by her and everything.

01:37:32 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 4:

It would be uncomfortable for the guest. By the way, we've all done that. Now, did all of those happen during the interview or just during the episode? Because if you're talking about, like, say Louis Capaldi or Harry Styles was coming on the show, you best believe I would be like, my future husband, the love of my life.

01:37:47 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, and it's annoying because we've been talking about it for so long. I don't know. I don't watch The View. Right. Okay. Breaking news. Either way. So I don't know if this is like a running thing that she always talks about Liam Neeson and finally they were interviewing him or whatever.

01:37:58 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 4:

And if he's uncomfortable, he's uncomfortable. You can read that fast. You can read that fast.

01:38:04 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Like if you say it and it's a compliment, that's one thing. If you linger for five minutes through the whole interview.

01:38:09 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 4:

I was just saying, if I was Joy and she genuinely loved him and then this came out and said he was uncomfortable, I bet she feels terrible. Yeah. Yeah.

01:38:17 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 5:

Especially if she's married and she's joking and it's different than if you're being creepy.

01:38:22 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 2:

Boo all around A popular TikTok family Speaking of TikTok But the Kelly family on TikTok If you know them Is under fire this morning For sharing a hack To get their toddler on rides More rides at Disney World In order to ensure that Their little guy Canon Would meet the height requirements For a lot of the rides at Disney Dad crafted a shoe Oh no Out of multiple platform sneaker bottoms And Gorilla Glue So he made like a big platform sneaker, okay? Well, that TikTok, which has now gotten over like 350,000 views at least, that was the last I checked, showcases their son wearing the shoes at Disney, and dad calls it the ultimate theme park hack. Well, the backlash was immediate and fierce, with many calling what this family did extremely dangerous. Even former Disney cast members came out to say, those height requirements aren't there to ruin your kid's day. they're there to keep them safe and if you don't meet those requirements there's a heightened risk that something really really terrible could happen and making platform shoes is not going to keep you any safer so don't do that Ed Sheeran has created a brand new brand of hot sauce in collaboration with Kraft Heinz that's based on his childhood nickname Ted it's called tingly Ted's hot sauce

01:39:44 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

I love my food. That's no secret. But the older I get, the more I need spice. So we've developed a hot sauce called Tingly Teds. I've developed this over time with some expert hot sauce makers. We've basically whittled it down to the best flavors, the best chilies.

01:40:00 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 4:

I wanted it with the same consistency as ketchup. I love it. I carry it in my suitcase wherever I go. I have it on breakfast. I have it on lunch. I have it on dinner. I have it on after-show food. I have it on snacks. You can have it with anything. Literally anything.

01:40:10 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Tingly Ted's comes in two varieties. Tingly and extra tingly.

01:40:15 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 3:

I have written a theme tune. Check it out. Tingly Ted.

01:40:21 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 1:

Are we going to try it when it comes out? I just started putting hot sauce on everything. Hot sauce aficionados, by the way If you want to try Tingly Ted's You're going to have to wait a little bit Because official release dates for the sauces

01:40:37 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 4:

I mean, we obviously Need him to write a mojo in the morning jingle Because that's an untapped talent Untapped talent from Tingly Ted's Sheer creativity

Mojo in the morning. I got a feeling that KP is into this whole thing because I just know how KP is. She loves like country music and stuff, you know? And she has been talking about this for days now. and we're going to send you next year to this. KP is into, is obsessed with what goes on in Iowa. And I think, is it at their, do they do it like at their state fair or something like that?

01:43:26 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Iowa State Fair, and it is hysterical.

01:43:29 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Which, you know what's funny is I've talked to friends of mine that have gone to the Iowa State Fair, and they say it's the greatest state fair in the world.

01:43:35 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, you can get anything deep fried. Deep fried everything.

01:43:38 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 2:

Well, she's into this husband calling contest that they had at the state fair.

01:43:43 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I saw the Daily Show report on this once.

01:43:46 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 3:

It's so crazy. It's not what you think. It's the strangest thing. We all know the adrenaline you get when your mom or your dad's calling. You're like, Kristen! But the husband call, that's a whole different story. Not that I know I'm not a husband.

01:44:02 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the mom calling is becoming a dying breed now because mom just texts your kid. I know. But I remember parents sending us out in summer and you would hear them five blocks away.

01:44:14 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 3:

get home for dinner these had me rolling though like when i say i was rolling when i saw these videos i was like oh my god they're poor husbands these poor guys have some of them yeah here we

01:44:26 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 5:

go hold on bob bob bob bob hurry up i don't want to be late oh my lord i don't want to be late to the great iowa state fair bob hurry hurry bob robert dean yeah bob bob's at the bar yeah

01:44:46 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 2:

shut the f*** up bob's like loving every minute i think bob by the way has run away from that lady

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Yo-hoo, yo-hoo, cake, cake, yo-hoo.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 3:

She's calling her husband or a dog? Exactly, or a kitty.

01:45:02 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 5:

Cuckoo, the clock says

01:45:05 - 01:45:07 | Unknown:

day and night time.

01:45:08 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. By the way, the people in Iowa must have no entertainment there. That this is actually fun for them.

01:45:16 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 6:

One of my girlfriends cuckoo calls her husband, though. That's how she calls him.

01:45:19 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 2:

She cuckoo calls him?

01:45:21 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 6:

She goes, cuckoo! And then wherever he is in the store, he goes, cuckoo! And that's how they find each other. You've got to be kidding me. I swear. I swear. How could I make that up?

01:45:29 - 01:45:42 | Speaker 2:

Why do I feel like I can, like, know exactly what these people look like if they're caca-ing in a store? I would be like, you're the caca-ar at the checkout. I would know exactly who you are. Here, one more of these.

01:45:42 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 5:

Roy? Roy! Oh! Can you hear me? You get yourself in here right now!

01:45:50 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 3:

This is the first place winner.

01:45:51 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 5:

Come on! You know you're going to be late again, and you know that I want to get there on time. Shut up!

01:45:59 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

You shut your face Oh my god Here we go Oh please don't do it I said I'm going to do it I defied him and I won first So after that He's gun hole for me

01:46:22 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 2:

The guy's dead I guarantee you the guy was happy to die He's like alright

01:46:27 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 3:

He probably encouraged you to do the contest to have a moment's peace in his household.

01:46:31 - 01:46:32 | Unknown:

That's true.

01:46:32 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that Roy is sitting in the audience and has to take out his phone and taper the entire time?

01:46:37 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 3:

I would say he came with a sack over his head because he's not Roy, he's Ronald. Oh, my God.

01:46:43 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you are cute. You're cute as a bug's ear. You know that, KP?

01:46:48 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 3:

Are you talking to me?

01:46:48 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking to you. How is she? You are an old soul. She is. KP and Jed, if you guys don't get married to each other. Yes, you are perfect. You guys are exactly, he is the female version of you and you're the male version of him.

01:47:01 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 3:

I was listening to one of their morning show segments on the iHeartRadio app and Joe is making fun of his clothes saying that Jed comes to work dressed like he's about to do Joe's taxes. And it had me dying because Jed does wear a polo with a collar like every day. Yeah, yeah.

01:47:19 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 1:

But you can tell you've lived with your grandparents a while because you say grandparent things.

01:47:23 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 3:

I do, I really.

01:47:24 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's the deal. You got to call Jed. Ready? We're going to husband call Jed. You got to use the name Jed, and we're going to have you.

01:47:32 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 6:

Jedward.

01:47:34 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 2:

Jedediah.

01:47:34 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 6:

Jedediah. Jedediah. Jedediah. It's full names.

01:47:37 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 3:

It's got to be annoying, though, right?

01:47:39 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, like put a little yodel in there or something.

01:47:43 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 3:

Jed Jeffrey.

01:47:45 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Wow, she even used the middle name.

01:47:48 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 3:

That was good.

01:47:48 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Come on, you got to hold it longer, though. You got to go longer.

01:47:51 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Jedediah. Jeffrey.

01:47:56 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

That's good

01:47:58 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god Oh my god

01:48:00 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Don't you get the feeling Don't you get the feeling Seriously that 20 years from now We're going to Like Fast forward life You know how TV shows Would do that sometimes Sitcoms Would fast forward And it would be them With like Gray hair or whatever The worst makeup ever We're gonna fast forward And there's gonna be KP and Jed She's gonna be like Crocheting something

01:48:19 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 6:

Well she's not that old No they'll just be Chasing after some kids

01:48:22 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay chasing after some kids Little Jeds Will you have little Jeds

01:48:25 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 6:

Little Jed with little polo shirts

01:48:28 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Or it'll be like Guthrie get over here

01:48:31 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 3:

Guthrie I don't know It'll probably be like the Jed the third

01:48:37 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 2:

Wait so yeah So it's Jed Papa, Jed and then Jed the third Number three Get over here three What is going on Hold on I'll do it right now This is my husband calling for Does Chelsea yell for you No, she does not yell for me. Actually, to be perfectly honest with you, she just gives me a look, and then I know exactly what I'm doing at that time. They should do the look contest. If they were smart, they would do that at the Michigan State Fair.

01:49:08 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know this contest is a parody of another contest that happens at fairs.

01:49:12 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 2:

The hot calling?

01:49:13 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:49:14 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Could you imagine if that was the guys going up there doing that? Women would cancel. They would be canceled for that. All right, hold on a second. This is the producer calling contest for KP. Ready? There we go.

01:49:29 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 3:

KP! KP! Okay, wait. You would win. It's literally what I get on the other end of my phone after every show.

01:49:37 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 2:

She hates, by the way, she hates, she'll pick up the phone and I'll go, I'll go, Kristen, and she'll go, why do you call me Kristen? Everybody calls me, and I'm like, Kristen is such a more beautiful name than KP. I know you've got the, you know, it's KP because your name. but I just feel like Kristen is like Kristen. You know what I mean? Don't you? No. Okay.

01:49:58 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Jeff. Thank you so much.

01:50:00 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 4:

Number three, I'm laughing because all I'm thinking about the whole time is that couple that Shannon was just talking about and how they walk around a store and they ca-caw each other. What stores do they shop at? Tell me what kind of stores they shop at. I have a friend of mine who meows all the time. Oh, yeah, he does. And he's got Luke doing it now. Paul, my buddy Paul. He meows. That's weird. Yeah, he sees somebody beautiful, he'll go, meow, like that. He's got Joe meowing, or Luke meowing, that now the kids at Luke's high school just walk around and randomly start meowing. That's weird. It is extremely weird, but not as weird as the cacaw. Come on, the cacaw.

01:50:48 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 5:

The cacaw also happens in all the Isle of Shame. Yeah, I wonder if that's where they got it from. I would call her, but she's a teacher, so she's in class right now.

01:50:58 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 4:

Does she cacaw to them at all?

01:51:00 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how hard to ask her.

01:51:01 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 4:

Funny. All right. What's that? I'm sorry. You're off money.

01:51:05 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to get Jed on the phone.

01:51:06 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah? Here, you want me to call him? I can call him on my phone.

01:51:08 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 2:

She's got him.

01:51:09 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you got him?

01:51:10 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Here, Mojo, take this.

01:51:12 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

Here. Yeah, I'll plug you into the system here. Ladies and gentlemen, the world famous, the one and only member of the Joe Show, Jed Adaya. Jed?

01:51:24 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 3:

That's good, my friend.

01:51:25 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 4:

How are you doing there, Jed?

01:51:28 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 3:

We're living the dream. I'm looking at the weather right now in Michigan. You're looking at the weather?

01:51:33 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 2:

That's an old one.

01:51:35 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 4:

So, Jed, we were having this conversation. KP is like you. She's the female version of you because her sense of humor sometimes is a little bit older than her age. Let's just put it that way.

01:51:50 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like dad jokes and stuff.

01:51:52 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 5:

It's not even that. It's like phrases she says and stuff.

01:51:56 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:51:56 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 4:

so we what we want to do is we're going to send her and you to the des moines iowa state fair the iowa state fair to go and participate in the husband calling contest because she's so excited about it do you know what that is husband calling she just did here go ahead call him and call him

01:52:17 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 2:

this is uh when we get married this is what i'm going to call when you're uh when we're late to where we have to go. Okay, ready? Jeff! Jeffree!

01:52:30 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 4:

Does that make you go limp? You know what I just heard?

01:52:32 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 5:

I just heard this thing in the wind. It reminds me of Auntie Em calling Dorothy at the beginning of The Wizard of Oz. Yeah. Dorothy! When the tornado comes.

01:52:41 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 4:

Anything that made you hot for KP just completely lost it on that particular one.

01:52:47 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 3:

We'll see. I don't know about this whole Iowa thing. Have you even been to Iowa? No, I don't really know where that is on map.

01:52:53 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 2:

to be honest.

01:52:57 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 4:

Are they not perfect together? They are.

01:53:00 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 5:

I want it to happen. I've wanted it to happen so badly from the very beginning.

01:53:04 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 3:

Don't force it, Shannon.

01:53:06 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 5:

Why? I don't think it needs to be forced.

01:53:09 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 4:

We've tried to force too many other relationships that have failed. We're going to let this one happen organically, as we like to say.

01:53:15 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 1:

So I put them on a call. They were FaceTiming on Friday because we have a system here that I thought, oh, Jed uses the same computer equipment. He can help walk you through this, KP. And they bickered like an old couple on the phone on FaceTime. It was hilarious.

01:53:29 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 2:

What part in particular?

01:53:32 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 1:

I think he was even telling you you weren't holding the phone right. And he's like, just show me. Let me show you the equipment. And he got into dad mode of over-explaining things. Like, so there's a thing called a computer. And KP's just like, just tell me the controllers. Well, what you really want to do is you really want to get this. And she's like, this is what I have in the studio. Just tell me how to work this.

01:53:53 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 4:

Gee golly, willikers.

01:53:55 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Jed, you dingus. Just tell me what I got to do. You dingus. Dingus. I think what we're going to have to do is we're going to have to fly KP down to Tampa for some one-on-one instruction.

01:54:05 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 4:

You think that that's good? He lives. Yeah, he's saying. What would your beautiful parents think of that? What would Papa have to save?

01:54:18 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, it depends on when she comes down. Chances are they'll probably be out of town, but I think my dad would be a fan. I don't think my mom would be. Mama Nancy would not take to kind of that.

01:54:29 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 1:

Are you allowed to have girls over if they're not there?

01:54:33 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm allowed to have girls over when they're there. My mom just gives me the guilt trip if it does end up happening. Because it has happened in the past where my mom's like, so who came over last night? And she kind of like picks at it. It's a non-conversation.

01:54:47 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 2:

When you say the past, did you mean like this past weekend?

01:54:50 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 1:

right how often is this wait that is weird though like you would bring

01:54:55 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

girls back to your parents house and would you guys go right to your room or would you

01:55:00 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 5:

watch tv in the living room like with everybody no i would i would wait until everybody was in bed and then i would just sneak them through the back door the sliding glass door hey do you like

01:55:11 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 1:

to be snuck through the back door no not particularly i'm closer to actually no i'm not

01:55:16 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 6:

even closer to 30 i was about to say yeah um all right so uh all right jed where's everybody at

01:55:22 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 5:

where's uh where's my son and uh and my daughter i am uh i'm in our office studio saving off our podcast right now, because we don't get to talk as much as you guys do, so you want me to go back in the studio and you can talk to him? No, I'll talk

01:55:37 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 6:

to him later. Alright, I love you, buddy.

01:55:40 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 5:

Alright, love you guys. We're on from 3 to 7 at Live with Joe Show. Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook. Bye. Just wanted to plug that.

01:55:45 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 6:

Alright, I like that. Good plug. Good plug. Anything you want to say to him at all,

01:55:49 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 1:

KP? No, just have a good day, and hopefully you're wearing a nice collared shirt. Say I love you. Say I love you.

01:55:56 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm not wearing a collared shirt. I'm wearing a NASA shirt, which is ironic because I have so many conspiracies about NASA. We're going to continue this

01:56:02 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 1:

conversation at a later time. He has a lot of conspiracies. I'm not going to say I love you.

01:56:09 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 6:

She loves you.

01:56:11 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 5:

I know she does. She just doesn't want to say it. Jeopardy's on at 6.

01:56:18 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 3:

If he ever calls you buddy or just says hey, you. He's not trying to be offensive. He just forgot your name. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:56:27 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 7:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

01:56:30 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 6:

It's the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:56:32 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you a quick story about something I experienced yesterday in the grocery store?

01:56:37 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 6:

What happened?

01:56:38 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 4:

So I was checking out, and I noticed the guy in front of me has like 40 or 50 cans of cat food. And I'm wondering, how many cats did this guy have? Because we always tend to make fun of the crazy cat lady. Well, this would be a crazy cat dude. If he's got like 50 cans of cat food, of like the wet cat food, I'm like, i should ask him how many cats he has and then i started looking and as the guy's checking out his mannerisms i'm like this is a little weird i'm not going to engage in conversation i don't i don't want to get over my head here let me just check out and get out of here so then when it's my turn to go up to the register and that guy left i said i made a comment delay like wow that's uh i wonder how many cats that guy has she goes he doesn't have any and i said what do you mean doesn't have any she said that guy comes in every week he's really weird he told me he eats the cat food and i said what wait like as a snack and i said he's got to be joking there's no way like you know he was he was messing with you because i mess with you can you eat cat food uh you probably can cat and dog food it's not dangerous you could eat it it smells horrible so i said the guy was obviously messing with you maybe works at a shelter or something or he's yeah doing something she goes no he had a full-on conversation with me about which one tastes the best and she said she met she laughed and and thought he was joking and the guy's like no i'm serious he goes just because it's marketed to cats doesn't mean you look at all the ingredients

01:58:02 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 6:

it's all stuff humans would eat and yeah look at this hold on on a can of cat food and me i just played the meow mix commercial it says here on the youtube that on the can chicken turkey salmon and ocean fish flavors. Oh, ocean fish flavors.

01:58:20 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 2:

As somebody who had a cat, some of the wet foods smell disgusting. And some, if I was blindfolded, I would think it was like Denti Morbius stew. It just is what it is.

01:58:30 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 7:

My dad, you guys know this, Tim Murphy wastes nothing. Like, if you give him leftovers, he will keep them in his fridge or freezer until the very last morsel is eaten. And Charlie has this dog food, my dog, mojo that actually you recommended to me and it's like fresh it's called the farmer's dog i don't know it's like fresh food that like gets delivered to the house or whatever oh my gosh you spoiled dogs i totally spoil this dog well my dad has been taking care of charlie and he is known to if charlie does not finish his food i'm not joking put salt and pepper and gravy on it and my dad

01:59:05 - 01:59:17 | Speaker 6:

will finish it isn't that disgusting well it is it's basically chopped up chicken turkey or whatever the meat is, and then a bunch of veggies like carrots and green beans and stuff

01:59:17 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 7:

and chickpeas. Yeah, that's what's in it.

01:59:18 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

I've eaten little kibbles before of Dublin's food. My dog, too, messed with the girls, like, see their face and their reaction and everything, but the wet cat food smells so bad when you open it. I can't even imagine. Can I tell you something else?

01:59:33 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 7:

So this reminds me of college when I would buy that much cat food at a time and I have never owned a cat in my life But the place where I used to go tanning, the guy was like a creeper who owned it. And he had this deal where if you brought in a can of wet cat food, you got to tan for free. So my girlfriends and I would all go to like Sam's Club and buy cases of wet cat food because it was super cheap. Yeah, right. And we would just bring one.

02:00:00 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 2:

in every time and get to tan for free. This is why I had skin cancer twice. Do not do this. But the crazy part is, looking back, I'm like, he was making no money. Why would he do that? He was probably videotaping us.

02:00:12 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, there's something weird about that. But I was the

02:00:16 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 2:

girl that would be in the grocery store buying 50 cans of wet cat food because that would get me through two months of tanning.

02:00:21 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 5:

It's not like your dad said, okay, there's a mouthful, I'll just shove it in my mouth. This guy's buying 40, 50 cans, Which makes me think that's all his meals That's all he eats every day Wow That is cheap I mean, yeah I didn't even think about the budgetary aspect I was just glad I didn't engage in conversation Because there's a little strangeness going on Is he in good shape? Well, he's an older guy So, you know, they look a little skinny and frail I guess he's not overweight

02:00:51 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 3:

Dude, I bet he lives to like 150

02:00:53 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 5:

I bet that's the secret

02:00:55 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 4:

shiny coat with lots of vitamins here it says here googling can you eat cat food nothing in cat food is indigestible for humans in fact it's made from basic food groups high quality ingredients are used for human food but lower quality equivalents are usually in pet food yeah

02:01:17 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 5:

i figured the pet do not recommend all the parts that they don't want to use in the human food

02:01:21 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Although, isn't that what a hot dog is also, too?

02:01:24 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hot dogs are so good.

02:01:26 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I still, by the way, can't believe that this guy eats cat food.

02:01:32 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:01:33 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 4:

I mean, honestly, it's sad.

02:01:34 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 5:

It's every meal, apparently. I mean, it was a lot.

02:01:37 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 4:

Like, I honestly, I don't consider the man weird. I consider it very sad if he can't afford regular food.

02:01:44 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 5:

So, I don't think it's an afford thing because he had other items. So the store, it was the Better Health Food Market. It's not a cheap store to shop in because they have all the health products and organic. Oh, so they must have different kind of cat food then. They still, though. But it's still, so I don't think, it's not like the cheapest cat food you're going to find around.

02:02:04 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Right. That's what I mean. It's just what he prefers to eat. It must be like really like, you know how like, do they sell pet food at Trader Joe's?

02:02:13 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. They have real small section.

02:02:15 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 4:

Or Whole Foods. Do they sell it? Like, I would think that their pet food, and I don't know, I'm just assuming, but I would think that their pet food would be some kind of a different quality than the pet food you'd get at Walmart or at the dollar store.

02:02:28 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's also a really big, like, pet food shortage right now, so I think I'd be a little bit pissed if I saw somebody buying it a lot.

02:02:35 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 4:

Right? That's true. All right. Got a good show for you today. It's Mojo in the Morning. By the way, this might be the only time that we have ever talked about food that I have not walked away from the thing going, God, I'm hungry. I think it might be this guy's cat food thing. Kind of lost my appetite for me.

02:02:51 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 1:

If you answered awesome to the question, how are you doing today? You're either drunk, practicing your sarcasm, or you're about to go on vacation. Welcome to this is Mojo in the Morning.

02:03:01 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning show so we do a second date update on mondays here on the show i feel like we got to get some of shannon's friends on second date update sometimes because some of your friends and And the crazy dating stories that they have are pretty funny. So tell your story about your friend and the person's most interesting location where he lives.

02:03:42 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I want to hear your stories, by the way, of the first time you stepped foot into the home of the person that you went on a few dates with or are dating. And, like, did you see something strange or whatever? Because this is exactly what happened to a friend of mine. met a guy in a dating app and they had gone out one time and then the second time they went out which was last week he asked something had happened to his car I don't even know what the story was but he said I know this sounds silly but can you pick me up and she was like yeah no problem that's totally fine so he gave her his address and when she showed up she discovered that he she knew he lived in an apartment she just didn't know where like she knew the city whatever but specifically she pulled up and he lived in an apartment on top of a funeral home wow and she had he wasn't the funeral director his family has nothing to do like he's not that's not his family and he just happens to live on top of the funeral home gotcha this is totally separate he just happens to rent the apartment on top of the funeral home it's like the tv show

02:04:50 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

six feet under i've never seen it it's great it was the get with the guy from dexter that's wild isn't that crazy yeah she's like well i'm never staying the night there so when she

02:05:00 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 5:

puts it in her google maps and she puts the address down in the google maps it pulls up in

02:05:04 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 4:

front of the funeral home what does she do i asked her and she said i just thought the dot was you know it was next door or something she had no idea she wasn't even following because she put it into her nav in her car until she rolled up and she was like wait a second this cannot be

02:05:19 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 5:

right that would be kind of like eerie has she uh continued to date him or then well this was

02:05:25 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 4:

last week. This was last week? I mean, she really likes him. Would she ever

02:05:28 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 5:

feel weird about spending the night at his

02:05:31 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 4:

house? She said she's never spending the night there. Never spending the night there.

02:05:33 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 5:

So she says now. So if she ever got into a relationship with him, he would probably have to move if they were going to continue the relationship. I don't know. But the crazy part

02:05:39 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 4:

is, this is the second friend of mine who has had this happen. My girlfriend Ashley, when I was in college, was going home for holiday break to visit her boyfriend Drew, and his family operated a funeral home. Really? And so she stayed in the funeral home for Christmas break with him. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Something sexy about the funeral. That was a family business.

02:06:00 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 5:

By the way, are there any funeral homes that are looking for renters? Reese, I know you've got a new apartment, but would you love to live above a funeral home? Wouldn't that be kind of fun?

02:06:10 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 1:

If they put that in an Airbnb, do they have to disclose, by the way, you're upstairs? I would think. You might have to be silent at certain times if there's a service downstairs.

02:06:17 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 4:

So that was his joke. So when they went out last week, he was like, hey, if you want to do something this weekend, And we can hang out on Saturday, but we have to be especially quiet from 2 to 6 p.m. And I'm like, oh, my God.

02:06:29 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 5:

But think about that at night. You would never have to worry about, you know, throwing loud parties or anything like that. Because who are you going to wake up if there's a... I know. Although... I couldn't do it either. Brianna, what's up?

02:06:42 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I was calling because I actually used to live above a funeral home. And my mom is currently still living there.

02:06:51 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 5:

Really? Were you guys the funeral directors? Like, was Dad the funeral director?

02:06:55 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 2:

No, my mom just, she worked there for a long time, and then we had to move out of our house, and they have an apartment, so we moved in there.

02:07:04 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 5:

Tell me, what is it like above a funeral home? Can you smell the embalming fluid from below?

02:07:10 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Thankfully, no. It was a little creepy in the very beginning. You get used to it. I mean, it's just another place to live.

02:07:17 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Was it weird inviting friends over, like, to come play with you after school?

02:07:21 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 2:

Um, well, like, the close friends, they understood. They really had no problem with it. They thought it was weird, of course, in the beginning, but nothing too crazy.

02:07:30 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 5:

Like, that would, to me, would be weird if my kid's like, hey, Dad, I'm going to hang out with, you know, Brianna today. Like, oh, okay, son, that's cool. I'll pick you up afterwards.

02:07:39 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 4:

And you roll up, too.

02:07:40 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 5:

And I roll up, and there's a funeral home. Like, did your mom, since she worked at the funeral home, did she have access also to the hearse? Could she pick you up or drop you off at school in that big old station waggy type vehicle?

02:07:54 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 2:

Thankfully, no. We had our own vehicle, so we didn't have to use the hearth. But she might have used it a few times to maybe go out, grab something. Usually, it's mostly work stuff, though.

02:08:06 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. By the way, I want to please talk to Shannon's friend. the next time she goes on a date if she goes over to the house just to see what it's like there because I'd be freaked out by it too.

02:08:19 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'd be so weirded out.

02:08:21 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 5:

I kind of want to stay a night in one though.

02:08:23 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:08:23 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 5:

I think it would be fun. Spike's buddy Tim is a funeral director. Maybe Tim can...

02:08:27 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 4:

Does he live in a funeral home?

02:08:29 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, he did. He doesn't now but for a long time his whole family lived above the...

02:08:34 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 4:

Just like My Girl, the movie My Girl. Remember that movie?

02:08:37 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:08:38 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 1:

With Macaulay Culkin. Wouldn't bother me though. I'll go visit him while he's at work and stuff. Yeah.

02:08:43 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Nikki. Yes. What's going on? Nothing.

02:08:47 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:08:47 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

02:08:49 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

So I worked in a funeral home for a few months that they had apartments in almost every funeral home they had.

02:08:55 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So people would rent these things out and have no problem with that?

02:09:01 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Most of the time it was just the workers that rented them out so that they could be available whenever they needed to have a quick question.

02:09:10 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 5:

You need to be there when somebody dies.

02:09:12 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 3:

But, yeah. But there was random people that just would live there sometimes. That's this guy.

02:09:17 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 5:

I mean, honestly, you are, you know, somebody that worked in the business, so it probably didn't freak you out. But could you imagine at night you're trying to, like, get intimate and stuff?

02:09:27 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

02:09:29 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:09:29 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, nobody's bugging you. No, I don't know.

02:09:33 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 5:

You never know, right?

02:09:34 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 3:

You never know. Those places are weird, creepy. They were always really quiet. I didn't like it.

02:09:39 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 1:

It'd be creepy if it wasn't quiet. It's supposed to be quiet. If you hear somebody downstairs making a noise, that's when you've got to worry.

02:09:47 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 5:

Think about it, though. You've got the leftover flowers that they had from the old funerals that nobody would want.

02:09:51 - 02:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, you know what? I took many of those flowers home.

02:09:56 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Did you really? Would you actually hang them in your house like that?

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 2:

they were displayed or would you redo them and put them all together it depends i most of the

02:10:05 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 1:

time if they took the big everybody always takes the big ones home but like some of the leftover vases or peace lilies that people send yeah if they don't want them they just leave them and

02:10:16 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 5:

we had first dibs on them or we threw them away i would sneak down and put one of my photos on the little photo collage of the deceased and just see every time if anyone ever notices Wait, you changed the actual photo? Yeah, just put my – leave theirs up there, but just add mine to it and just see if anyone's like, who's that guy? Did he know Charles?

02:10:36 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, this would be a promo picture. Yeah, exactly. A promo picture for Spike.

02:10:44 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 5:

30 on the 30. Shannon, that's you.

02:10:49 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hi. Sorry, when Megan's here, I'm very distracted.

02:10:53 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 5:

You girls over here just having a whole conversation.

02:10:55 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, talk about candles, man. We're talking about important stuff. Okay, but wait, I have something very, very important.

02:11:01 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 5:

I know, this is big.

02:11:02 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Sorry. I mean, just getting myself together.

02:11:06 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 5:

Candle talk. Okay.

02:11:07 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm like waving over here. This is your chance to qualify for an all-expenses-paid trip to the Oscars.

Britney Spears posting a clip on Instagram, a video showing off a beautiful new sparkly dress that she had gotten and also showing off a brand new Australian accent.

02:12:04 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so last week, guys, I made a dress. It's really proud. Diamond panel. Slip in the back. A girlfriend helped me sew it. They sent me a dress I didn't have to make myself. i can't believe it i'm just saying mike does the accent turn you on i know

02:12:20 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 4:

also we're going to say that's australian i know i've watched enough bluey to know that

02:12:24 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 2:

that's not australian

02:12:36 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 4:

do you want my trick to an australian accent i would love it you could say oh no if you say Say the American R&R. R&R. Oh, raise up leg.

02:12:46 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

Things I didn't know that I needed to know. R&R. Real quick, a big congrats to Fresh Up the Boat alum, Constance Wu. Love her. She's pregnant with her second child alongside a photo of her cute little bump. She wrote, bun in the oven. Philippines baby number two. Coming soon. Shawn Mendes. I cannot figure out this relationship, but spotted again with his rumored love interest, 51-year-old Dr. Joycelyn Miranda. She's a chiropractor. I think she's his chiropractor, maybe. But they were hiking, laughing, touching each other. She was wearing a sweatshirt, by the way, that said, I love you, baby. On it. Let's not read into this, but let's read into this. So she's 51. How old is he? 24. Wow.

02:13:34 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 4:

Get it. You know what? if Leonardo DiCaprio can be in these streets dating 19-year-olds? I don't know if they...

02:13:40 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 5:

I think maybe both of them might be a little...

02:13:42 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 4:

No, if you listen to this lately messy show, I do not defend Leonardo DiCaprio.

02:13:45 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Lots of lunch dates, lots of hangouts at his home, so... Grammy's after party, they went to together, my mom. They're together, right? Yeah. NBA star Devin Booker has stopped following his ex, Kendall Jenner, on Instagram, and fans have a big theory about the timing of this. She was spotted leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills around the same time as Bad Bunny on Saturday, which fueled dating rumors, of course. Justin Bieber and Haley were also seen at the restaurant on the same day, same time. So everybody's thinking maybe it was a double date. But after her little outing with Bad Bunny, fans were very quick to notice that Devin unfollowed Kendall. One wrote, guess that whole we are still friends act was just good as long as none of them started seeing somebody new too publicly. As a way to introduce some more luxurious beverages into their lineup, Starbucks will now be selling drinks that are infused with olive oil. The new Oleato line intends to bring a velvety smooth, delicately sweet, and lush coffee that uplifts each cup with an extraordinary new flavor and texture. So you can get cafe lattes, iced shaken espressos, and golden foam cold brews as part of this Oleato line.

02:15:00 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 4:

Any new drink they put out and just see what it's like, but it's going to have a taste. I've been told by anyone in Italy that does it that you definitely taste the olive oil, so it might not be for everyone. I was reading an interview with the CEO, Howard Schultz, yesterday. They asked him, like, this is going to be expensive, isn't it? Because olive oil is not cheap. And he said, we don't market to people that are watching their pennies. So I think Starbucks just says, we'll put it out there and people will buy it.

02:15:24 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Wow, in this economy. Southern California is going to be the first American region to get the beverages, by the way. We'll see.

02:15:30 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 4:

If it never makes it to Detroit, we know it did not work.

02:15:34 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 2:

And we need our winner, our qualifier. I shouldn't say winner, but our qualifier for this actress giveaway.

02:15:40 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone. I hit the wrong button. Let's go.

02:15:45 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. It keeps moving on me. I wanted to do it again. I wanted to. No, no. This is what happens when you drink olive oil, right? I was trying to give Shannon the winner back.

02:15:55 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. And I kept doing the other one. We are still going to talk to Danielle. Hi, Danielle.

02:16:03 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 4:

Danielle, you there?

02:16:04 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning. Okay, I need you to answer the question correctly for me, and we'll get you qualified for this trip to Hollywood, okay? Okay.
