who is who is dating the guy who is super duper smelly at the gym different no no no there was

00:03:36 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

one there was a booty call one the uh we did a cut talked about a couple weeks ago about one of your friends and she had the did she have to leave in the middle of the the booty call or something like that or shit i forget what it was yeah i can't remember what it was okay so there Whenever you bring these stories to me, I sit there and I think to myself, how come I've never met these friends?

00:03:58 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 1:

Actually, you have met this girl.

00:03:59 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 3:

I have? Really?

00:04:00 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 1:

You have met this girl. I'm not going to say her name, though. Okay. So she had a hookup, a one-night hookup, a one-night stand at the beginning of the summer with a guy who was in town for a bachelor party. Okay? Okay. And he is from California. now. So fast forward to recently, she they're still talking and texting each other, which kind of blows my mind. But she really, really likes him. Okay. And he really, really likes her. So anyway, she went to visit him in California two weekends ago, I think now. And he had to work on the Sunday when she while she was there, she went from Thursday to Monday. So on Sunday, he gets up to go to work and she didn't mind that because she had some work of her own to catch up on as well and so she was like I'm gonna do that I'm gonna watch a movie you know and just kind of like whatever hang out until he gets back from work so she was making some breakfast for herself with some leftovers from dinner the night before she bites and to a breakfast taco that she had made. And I don't even know how in the heck this happened, but she cracked her front tooth in half. Like legit in half. Almost up to the gum, actually. So maybe more than half. I hate it. Well, she starts panicking because she knew that she absolutely did not want the guy to see her looking like a hillbilly with half of her front tooth. And so she's like, what in the heck am I going to do? I'm not going home until tomorrow night. So she started calling dentists in the area. Now, again, it's a Sunday. She's in a state in a city that she's never been to before. Finally finds one that would take a random new patient for an emergency on a Sunday. She doesn't have a car. So she Ubers to this dentist's office, which is about 40 minutes from where this guy has his apartment. They fix her tooth. They basically give her a veneer, like a new tooth. She Ubers back to this guy's apartment, lands her butt on the couch just before he got home he had no idea how did she do it but talk about a booty call gone wrong right she goes to visit this guy in california and busts out her tooth was her reasoning for

00:06:12 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

getting her tooth fixed because of vanity or reasoning because it hurt her so bad oh it was

00:06:17 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 1:

vanity i'm sure it hurt her but she was like i can't i can't let him see me looking like this and so i said what in the heck were you gonna do if you if you couldn't for a dentist and she's I was like, I would go stay at a hotel. I was not going to let him see me like that.

00:06:32 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

Why is it that when people lose a cap or a filling or a tooth, in this case, it never happens on a Tuesday during work hours. It always happens on a weekend. While you're at home by your own dentist. It happens when you're out of town. It always happens. And the amazing thing, some people can't find dentists in their own hometown. She is able to find a dentist on an out-of-town booty call.

00:06:58 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:06:59 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy.

00:06:59 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

And, by the way, your tooth looks great. That's how.

00:07:02 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 3:

Have any of our listeners ever had, like, a bad booty moment, a bad booty call moment where something bad happened to you on a booty call? Like, what's the worst thing that ever happened to you when you were on a booty call?

00:07:12 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 1:

Whether in town or out of town. She just happened to be very far out of town.

00:07:17 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

When you're out of town on a booty call and something like that happens, that's, oh, my God.

00:07:20 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

I once heard a bar story from a guy about his booty call Hitting her head so hard on the headboard by mistake And I think they were just having some fun goofing around She hit so hard she went unconscious He had to wake her up And then he was afraid she got a concussion So he had to drive her to the hospital to get checked out When he didn't even know her last name But he's like, oh my god, I was so afraid That this woman would die on my date And it was just an accident

00:07:49 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Do you think he was just trying to also brag to you that he was? Of course he was. Of course he was. We hit the bend. We hit it so hard that that's what ends up happening. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. 844-MOJO-LIVE. I've never done an out-of-town booty call before. Like going out and meeting somebody out of town.

00:08:12 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

And then continuing. I mean, they've been talking since the end of June.

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

It's been a long time. And wait, did you say California?

00:08:18 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's a long way. He lives in California. And she lives here? Well, he was here. They first met because he was in town for a bachelor party. I have a buddy of his that was here.

00:08:27 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

How do you think this thing's going to go?

00:08:29 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:08:30 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Is she one of those people that has the ability to be able to pick up and go? Do you have kids?

00:08:35 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 1:

She, I don't think that this will be long term. They're just having fun for right now.

00:08:41 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

How about for her? What will last longer? Her veneer?

00:08:44 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Her veneer. Or this relationship? Her veneer. It's a lovely veneer.

00:08:48 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. That sounds like, honestly, my dentist is the type of dentist. I love Dr. DePilla. He's the type of dentist that would go in on a Sunday to do that for me if I had to do it. But I could not imagine calling up a strange dentist, like a person that's not your normal dentist, and having them go in. Good Lord. What's happening? Mojo in the morning, do you have a bad booty call?

00:09:10 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

I do.

00:09:11 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

What happened?

00:09:13 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

Getting hot and heavy, and his shoulder came out of socket.

00:09:18 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Christ. Oh, my gosh. You dislocated his shoulder? Give it up for him. Give it up. I didn't catch your name. What is your name? Let's go with Marie. Smart girl. Marie, you are a beast in the bed.

00:09:38 - 00:09:38 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:09:39 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

What did you guys do? Did you have to take him to the emergency room? Yeah, we had to go to the emergency room and tell him what happened and, well, you know. Did you, wait, did you, you told them that it was a booty call? Well, I mean, we didn't tell them it was a booty call. Was that the last time you guys had sex because of, you were worried that you had hurt his shoulder again?

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

No, no, we just, we played it steep a little bit more down the road

00:10:07 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 6:

You're gentle with him the rest of the way Look who's on, Deshaun

00:10:10 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 5:

Hi, buddy Hey, y'all, y'all, happy holidays

00:10:15 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 6:

00:10:18 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 5:

00:10:22 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 6:

00:10:28 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 5:

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 8:

00:10:46 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 6:

by the way i no i love i loved i love by the way when he says i'm not gonna tell you too much and

00:10:54 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 8:

then he tells us that the most detailed explicit wow by the way what part did you leave out that's

00:10:59 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 6:

Well, I think what ended up happening That happens to me sometimes, Deshaun Where I go to the bathroom And sometimes remnants of the Oh, no Remnants of toilet paper still remain

00:11:10 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 1:

I think people call that the Trisha Paytas

00:11:12 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 6:

Is that what it is? Deshaun, don't ever call her again

00:11:19 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

00:11:21 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 6:

You take care We love you too Alright, take care of yourself Oh my god, this is a wild one Booty call, and I clogged his toilet only to flood with Doody running around.

00:11:35 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 1:

00:11:37 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 6:

Craziness.

00:11:37 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 1:

That would happen to me.

00:11:39 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 6:

And then this one here, the Keys one is a crazy one. The person who they ended up having a booty back in the day before my boyfriend and I were together. I can't read it so long because I think it's going to reset. Read fast, Janet. Go ahead.

00:11:53 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

I would commute from college to Macomb, and I would always lie to my parents about my arrival time, so I'd have enough time to get my little booty call. Problem is, my dad always carries my spare keys. Thank God for AAA, because middle of winter, I locked myself out of my own car at my booty call's house, and I only had 45 minutes to get home before my parents would have suspected anything. Yeah.

00:12:15 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 6:

Before you turn into a pumpkin.

00:12:17 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 9:

We gonna take you back in the...

00:12:20 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split after 12 years together, citing a difference in parenting styles.

00:12:34 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 2:

It was a very difficult time, and we are a family, and we will always be a family. And we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.

00:12:48 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 7:

It was also the year Michael Stranahan left live with... Strahan. I'm sorry, Strahan. I'm trying to make him Irish. Michael Strahan left live with Kelly and Michael in this year.

00:12:59 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 4:

00:13:11 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 7:

00:13:15 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 5:

00:13:54 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

It was a very difficult time, and we are a family, and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it.

00:14:08 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 7:

Michael Strahan left live with Kelly and Michael this year.

00:14:11 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 4:

But I do want to say to all of our viewers out there, everybody who's watched this show over the last four years ago, four years ago when I came here, which I'm sure they were surprised when they said, they chose that guy with the big gap in his teeth.

00:14:23 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 7:

And Bruno Mars, 24K Magic. You don't want to see me on a dance floor at this one. Either 24K Magic or Uptown Funk is my all-time favorite jam. What year did this all take place? If you know, get a prize. It's the back in the day. Let's start off with Carly. Good morning, Carly. Good morning. What year did all these things happen?

00:14:51 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 5:

00:15:55 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, Paris Hilton revealed her baby boy's name, in case you were curious.

00:16:01 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I was curious.

00:16:01 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 2:

I know you were, especially you. Nearly a month after announcing her little one's arrival, she shared his name on this week's episode of her This Is Paris podcast.

00:16:10 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 5:

Over a decade ago, I thought of this amazing name. I really believe that names have power, and we wanted a name for our baby boy that was uniquely remarkable. So his name is Phoenix Baron Hilton Ream. His middle name is Barron, after my grandfather, Barron Hilton.

00:16:28 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 2:

It's a cool name. The little guy born via surrogate.

00:16:31 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 4:

Side note, does she always talk like that when she's on the podcast? Oh, no.

00:16:35 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, on the podcast, yeah, but that's not a real voice. A real voice is actually not half whispering and half having it.

00:16:43 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 3:

Like it's out of affect she does. I don't know what. Okay, sorry.

00:16:48 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Khloe Kardashian allegedly fired one of her former household assistants after he suffered from a knee injury, and now he's suing her. Khloe just got hit with a lawsuit from a young man named Matthew Mannard who says working for her was an absolute nightmare. According to the lawsuit, Matthew claims he worked for Khloe from 2019 until 2022 when he said she fired him as he tried to return to work after taking some time off from having this knee injury. Khloe's former assistant also claims she kept him so busy He often couldn't take his legally required breaks. Andy says she also never paid him overtime, even though he often worked 12 hour plus days. Chloe's legal rep said this is BS. The rep said it's unfortunate to learn that a former employee would choose to grow this route toward the end of his employment. He was on a leave of absence for an extended period of time and the role eventually needed to be replaced. Melissa Joan Hart, you remember her from Sabrina the Teenage Witch? Yeah, going back a long time ago. Clarissa explains it all way back in the day. Well, she now says she had a little thing with Ryan Reynolds back when they were both teen actors. Yes. She said they met while they were working together on the Sabrina the Teenage Witch movie in 1996. She had a crush on him. They made out. She said she had a boyfriend at the time. But she was smitten and he was cute and adorable and a super nice guy. And she said he probably would have been a great boyfriend, but I didn't, but I, oh, and she said, and I didn't end up with the other guy. Maybe I should have taken a chance on Ryan Reynolds. And the masked singer paid tribute to ABBA yesterday. ABBA, ABBA, ABBA, if you're from Michigan. And unmasked two celebrities in the process. We first heard from the night owl who turned out to be Debbie Gibson. She was actually a last minute. Well, I think you're right, but she, the person that was originally supposed to do it came down with COVID. And so with less than 24 hours, like practice and get fitted for a costume, Debbie was like, eh, I'll do it. I'm a fan of this show. And then we also got a brutal performance from The Rock Lobster.

00:19:12 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

00:19:13 - 00:19:18 | Speaker 2:

People in the audience were just mouthing, make it stop. This is so bad.

00:19:20 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 4:

Have they ever sung before in their life?

00:19:22 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 5:

Stay with me, everyone. Take it on.

00:19:26 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 4:

Legendary comedian, host, and superstar, Howie Mandel. Oh, God, really?

00:19:35 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

Wasn't he a judge on the show?

00:19:37 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 4:

AGT. AGT. They're all blending together. The point is, it sounds like he's never sang in his entire life. Not in the shower, not in the car, not ever. He was screaming.

00:19:45 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

It sounded like he was in pain. He needs to come, he needs to distance himself from the video he became famous for in 2022 of the butthole. So I think he's really scared. Anything right now. Now you know everybody's going to Google that. Well, don't, because it'll pop up.

00:20:00 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

You don't want to see it.

00:20:02 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 1:

Another chance to qualify for a trip for two to the Oscars in today's 930 Dirty. Make sure you're listening for that and for all of today's Dirty. Check out the Dirty page on themojointhemorning.com.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

00:20:19 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 5:

Phone scam right now here on the Mojo in the Morning show. You tuned in at the right time. Hannah is the receptionist at a law firm, and Spike is going to call her, but it's not Spike doing the scam. He's actually going to type his words into his computer and communicate through a text-to-speech program. You, by the way, come up with the craziest ideas to do these scams.

00:20:46 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm told she's kind of gullible. I want to see how long she'll talk to a computer before she figures out what she's doing.

00:20:53 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, let's go. It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:20:54 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you.

00:20:58 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning Phone Scans.

00:21:05 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for calling the Law Officers of ******. This is Hannah. How may I direct your call?

00:21:10 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Hello. My name is Tamiana Sorokin, and I'm calling to speak to an attorney about filing a lawsuit.

00:21:17 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay, great. Can I just get a little bit of information? What is the best phone number to reach you?

00:21:23 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. My phone number is 734-9... Oh, three. Okay, and I'm so sorry, what did you say your name was again?

00:21:34 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 3:

Tammy. Okay, Tammy, is this a person or a business you'd like to file a claim against?

00:21:41 - 00:21:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sure. It's a bunch of people or one big company.

00:21:46 - 00:21:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, just so I can put you through to the proper attorney for a consultation, can I just ask you, is this litigation regarding personal injury, workplace dispute, not practice,

00:21:57 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 2:

or a money or property dispute? Well, I'm not sure. I feel like I've been secretly recorded for years. And then suddenly TikTok began using my own voice for their computer-generated text to speech feature. And this was all done without my permission. Wait, you're the lady from TikTok? 00:24:13 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 3:

Wait, this is on the radio now?

00:24:16 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're on the air right now. You've been the victim of a phone scam.

00:24:20 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 3:

You know you should never mess with lawyers, right?

00:24:26 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. If I could say anything I wanted to, I'd say that was f***ing funny s*** right there. I don't care who you are. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams. Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo. 5 at 6.55, yo.

00:24:51 - 00:25:02 | Speaker 1:

All right, Holly's been cruising right along all week. It's been awesome, Holly, just how incredible you've been. Nobody's been able to come close to you, and you're going for win number. Have you been bragging about this to your friends and family?

00:25:05 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 3:

Not bragging, but just a little bit nervous that it's all going to come crashing down once we hit double digits. All right.

00:25:10 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 1:

You're cautiously optimistic. I like that. Exactly. But I'll tell you what. If you get to the big number, you can put it on your LinkedIn and use it on your resume. You've got to beat Shannon first.

00:25:20 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 5:

Is that a flex?

00:25:21 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 1:

I think it is a flex. But first, you've got to get through Kirsten. She's our challenger this morning. Hi, Kirsten. Where are you calling from?

00:25:28 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I am in Northwest Ohio.

00:25:30 - 00:25:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. And what are you doing? You going to work? Are you braving the roads right now?

00:25:35 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 4:

I am at work, and I did brave them earlier, but I made it.

00:25:39 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 1:

Good, good. Yeah, it seems like all the main roads have been treated. It's just the side street's a little messy and, of course, a lot of power outages to deal with. But not enough to send you home from work early. That's a bummer.

00:25:50 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 4:

That's right. You're so right.

00:25:51 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, let's see how you do today. Let's get you in five questions here. But first, say goodbye to Holly so we can lock her up.

00:25:58 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 4:

Goodbye, Holly. Goodbye. Good luck.

00:26:02 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 1:

All right. There she goes. Holly's in a soundproof booth where she can hear your answers. Five pop culture questions. Whoever gets the most right will be our champion. Let's start with question number one, Kirsten. Don Lemon is on the ice over at his news network after most recently making comments about a woman's prime years. On which network does Don Lemon work? CNN. Question number two, Kristen Cavalieri says she's been getting tons of DMs following her divorce from her athlete ex-husband, Jay Cutler. What sport did Cutler play?

00:26:34 - 00:26:35 | Unknown:

Football.

00:26:36 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 1:

Soon-to-be mama of two, Rihanna, celebrated a birthday this week. Let's give you a multiple choice. How old is Riri? Is she 35, 32, or 30?

00:26:48 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 3:

35.

00:26:49 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 1:

Question number four, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle denying they're suing the creators of this animated show over the show's depiction of them on a recent episode.

00:26:59 - 00:27:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. The Simpsons?

00:27:01 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 1:

And question number five. Paris Hilton announced the name of her baby boy on her podcast this week. What is Paris' signature catchphrase? That's hot. All right. Let's see how you did.

00:27:14 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 5:

Not too bad at all, Kirsten. You got four out of five correct. Cool.

00:27:19 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 1:

Four out of five, Holly. You got to get at least four right. You haven't had a problem with that. All week long. Let's see how you do today. You ready? I'm ready. Question number one. Don Lemon is on thin ice over at his news network after most recently making comments about a woman's prime years. On which network does Don Lemon work?

00:27:36 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 3:

CNN. One to one.

00:27:39 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 1:

Kristen Cavalieri says she's been getting tons of DMs following her divorce from her athlete ex-husband, Jay Cutler. What sport did Cutler play?

00:27:47 - 00:27:48 | Unknown:

Football.

00:27:48 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 1:

Two to two. Question number three. Soon-to-be mama of two, Rihanna, celebrated a birthday this week. Let's give you a multiple choice. How old is Rihanna? Is she 35, 32, or 30?

00:28:01 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 3:

35.

00:28:02 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Correct. Three to three. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle denying they're suing the creators of this animated show over the show's depiction of them on a recent episode. Which show are we talking about?

00:28:13 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 5:

South Park. There we go. Four to three.

00:28:16 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 1:

And question number five. Paris Hilton announced the name of her baby boy on her podcast this week. What is Paris' signature catchphrase?

00:28:24 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 5:

That's hot. There we go. Perfect score for Holly yet again. Final score for both of you guys, 5-4. And Holly, we will talk to you tomorrow.

00:28:34 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 1:

Holly, you're unstoppable. I like it. You've been doing really well. And Kirsten, you pulled your own. You did pretty well, too. And we're going to give you a prize. You got a $50 gift card to Tabooli just for participating. the only morning show that gives the losers the prizes.

00:28:50 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 4:

Wonderful. Thank you. Thank you so much.

00:28:52 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 1:

No problem. Hang in the line. We'll get you hooked up with your prize. Everybody else be safe on your drive. If you'd like to play the 5 at 6.55, text IWANTAPLAY to 95500. And maybe producer KP will be calling to line you up this week.

00:29:06 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:29:16 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 6:

Irina, why do you think your husband's cheating on you?

00:29:19 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 3:

I found this email that he sent flowers to this other girl. Really?

00:29:23 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 6:

First off, how did you get access to this email?

00:29:27 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's on his phone, and he doesn't have a password on his phone, so I looked through some of his deleted emails, and I guess he tried to delete it.

00:29:35 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 5:

Was it like an email he wrote to somebody, or...?

00:29:38 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 3:

No, it was like a receipt, like a confirmation receipt. Like, he had sent flowers, and it was like the flower company.

00:29:45 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, online. Yes.

00:29:47 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:29:47 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 6:

Who was the other woman that he sent flowers to?

00:29:49 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 3:

Some girl named Catherine.

00:29:51 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 6:

Some girl named Catherine, so you don't know who this girl is? No, I don't. Did it say anything like, you know, his name attached?

00:30:00 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 1:

to it like in why you sent flowers to her or was it just a thank you for sending flowers to um i

00:30:06 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

just said thank you for ordering the flowers that have said his name as a sender and her name as a

00:30:11 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 1:

recipient but nothing in there about what the flowers were sent for no that's suspicious enough

00:30:18 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 5:

i mean does he send flowers to clients for work on a regular basis no not for work okay um what

00:30:25 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 1:

What we're going to do is we're going to do kind of a war of the roses. We know that he must have sent flowers if they're sending him this. But we're going to call up as that flower company to see if he'll send another dozen roses and see who he sends them to. See if he sends them to that same person. Again, what was that girl's name?

00:30:44 - 00:30:44 | Unknown:

Catherine.

00:30:44 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 1:

All right. And this is Irina. This is his wife. And we're hoping that we can get an answer for you on who this person might be.

00:30:55 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 3:

hello hi i'm looking for trevor yeah this is him hi trevor how are you doing this morning i'm good good my name's nicole i'm calling from you just recently ordered flowers from us is that right uh yeah why well we were our um so appreciative that you ordered flowers from us and trevor we'd like to offer you a dozen complimentary roses to send that's on us so you won't be paying anything and so i'm just calling this morning to see if you had anybody in mind that you might want to send flowers to right now maybe a special occasion coming up or something like that?

00:31:53 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to get charged for this.

00:31:55 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 3:

No, we just saw that you were a first-time customer, so this is basically our way of saying thank you.

00:32:00 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 4:

You don't have my credit card information saved, right? You're not going to charge me again?

00:32:06 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 3:

No, not at all. This is absolutely free.

00:32:08 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 4:

This is totally free.

00:32:10 - 00:32:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:32:11 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right, it's just a promotion because for us.

00:32:16 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 3:

It's just a promotion that we're offering this month to everybody who ordered flowers for the first time from the holiday.

00:32:24 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 4:

All right. As long as I'm not being charged.

00:32:26 - 00:32:33 | Speaker 3:

I promise I'm not going to charge you. Did you have somebody in mind that you'd want to send a dozen red roses to? That's what the floral arrangement is.

00:32:35 - 00:32:36 | Speaker 4:

Irina.

00:32:38 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 3:

Irina. Okay, that's a different name than I have on your account from the last bouquet of flowers that you sent. Is that correct, though? I have a Catherine listed on here.

00:32:49 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 4:

A Catherine. Could you go ahead and delete that name right now?

00:32:55 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:32:57 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 4:

Send the flowers to Irina, and could we go ahead and delete that name?

00:33:04 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Delete it from your account altogether?

00:33:06 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Trevor, I'm going to jump on the call just to grab an address and information from you so that we can get to more calls. I do have to warn you and let you know that some portions of the conversation actually have been recorded. And I also just want to let you know that this is actually not calling, but the Mojo in the Morning show. And during this entire conversation that we've been having with you, Irina, your wife, has been listening. Trevor? Yeah? Irina called us up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses, to find out why you were sending flowers to another woman.

00:34:02 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 4:

That has to be a mistake. I don't know what you're talking about.

00:34:06 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 3:

But you just told me to delete that other person's name.

00:34:10 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that shouldn't have been in there. I don't know what that was.

00:34:14 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 5:

But you sent her flowers, and it was on your credit card.

00:34:20 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know any Catherine, so I don't... It must have been a mistake.

00:34:25 - 00:34:36 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but when Shannon just mentioned it, you didn't say... I don't know who that is, or... Yeah, what's that charge? Why am I paying for that? You sounded like you knew who she was.

00:34:38 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 4:

Look, I don't... I wasn't expecting a call from... I don't know what the deal was. I just didn't want to be charged for anything. If they asked me for free flowers, I said yes. I'll send them to my wife.

00:34:50 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Irina's listening to this right now. And what are you thinking, Irina?

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Who is Trevor?

00:35:00 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 4:

There is no Catherine. There's no Catherine.

00:35:05 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 2:

I heard you. You said delete her name off the account.

00:35:16 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 4:

She's a woman from work who's had a rough time. I didn't want to tell you about it because I didn't want you to overreact. Just wanted to send her flowers. she had her father passed away thought it'd be a nice gesture but why did you

00:35:37 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 5:

just say you didn't know anybody named Catherine then why didn't you just come right out and say that to Irina

00:35:45 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't know I just felt on the spot it's weird

00:35:48 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 1:

Trevor you you sound like you you're you're lying to us

00:35:54 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 4:

she's nobody that's all I can say that's all I'm going to say

00:36:00 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 1:

Irina hold on I want to hear what you have to say about this

00:36:05 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 3:

okay call us 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548

00:36:14 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

this is Mojo in the morning

00:36:24 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 1:

Irina, do you believe this?

00:36:29 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

00:36:32 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 1:

Trevor, maybe we should actually get Catherine on with us or at least on with Irina and have her explain that her family's been going through tough times.

00:36:44 - 00:36:44 | Unknown:

All right.

00:36:46 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Go ahead. I mean, I'm supposed to say what I said.

00:36:51 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 5:

Can you give us her phone number?

00:36:53 - 00:36:53 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:36:54 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, why don't we take her phone number, and we will find out exactly what the deal is, okay?

00:37:00 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:37:04 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Reg?

00:37:05 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:37:06 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 1:

What's up, buddy? What did you want to say about this?

00:37:08 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'll tell you what. You know, it's like as soon as he heard that name, instantly he wanted that name taken off the account. Exactly. He did not want that name out there. He wanted that name gone, and then when he asked about that name, well, I don't know that person. I don't know who to, and then he'd come back with, it's like it took him a while to think about, oh, I'll think up this story. He's got the excuse.

00:37:27 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's got the excuse, but it doesn't match his reaction.

00:37:31 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, this guy should go out and buy some tap dancing shoes. He is definitely doing a dance.

00:37:35 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 1:

The thing that's weird, too, is I don't think these people realize when you're cheating like this, if you're cheating, you're throwing stuff on credit cards or you're doing things online like that.

00:37:44 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 5:

There's proof right there.

00:37:45 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 1:

It's called paper trail, you morons. Hey, what's up? Hi, what's going on? Is this Shara?

00:37:50 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 2:

Shara.

00:37:51 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 1:

Shara, what's up?

00:37:52 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I just wanted to give some advice for Irina. Yes. You know, not to be fooled by this guy. I work in an office full of guys. I'm the only female. And I've been through so many different tragic things in the past two years. But they know that I'm with somebody, you know, and they would never cross the line and buy me flowers. So that's very suspicious.

00:38:11 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you – and that whole work thing is weird, too, because I agree with you. Maybe, Shannon, you know, something's going on just because we work so closely with each other on the air and talk about each other's personal lives. But somebody in the office here, I don't think I'm sending stuff to it either. So I don't know. So there's no number? The number he gave us for the girl? Yeah. Hmm. Hold on a second. They're on hold right now talking. Let me pick up the phone liners. Trevor, are you completely lying to us? because we also got a phone call from somebody who says they work with you that said that there's nobody in your office that's by the name of Catherine. Thought so, huh?

00:38:59 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Oh, s***, I don't believe you.

00:39:01 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

Let's recap you on what is happening here with the War of the Roses. Now I'll take some calls. This is the home of the War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. During this entire conversation that we've been having with you, Irina, your wife, has been listening. Trevor, are you still there? Yeah. Trevor, Irina called us up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses, to find out why you were sending flowers to another woman.

00:39:40 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 4:

Um, uh, that has to be a mistake. I don't know what you're talking about.

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 5:

But you just told me to delete that other person's name.

00:39:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I, that shouldn't have been in there. I don't know what that was. But you sent her flowers and it was on your credit card.

00:40:00 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 6:

I don't, I don't know any Catherine, so I don't, it must have been a mistake.

00:40:08 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but when Shannon just mentioned it, you didn't say, I don't know who that is. Yeah, what's that charge? Why am I paying for that? You sounded like you knew who she was.

00:40:18 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't expecting a call from I don't know what the deal was I just didn't want to be charged for anything If they asked me for free flowers I said yes I'll tell them to my wife

00:40:31 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 2:

Irina is listening to this right now And what are you thinking Irina?

00:40:39 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 5:

Holy Trevor There is no Catherine There's no Catherine

00:40:47 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 7:

I heard you. You said delete her name off the account.

00:40:58 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 6:

She's a woman from work who's had a rough time.

00:41:03 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 2:

That was, by the way, the quickest turnaround. The War of the Roses, Mojo in the Morning here. Andrea, hi. Hi. So he sends flowers to this other girl, denies that there's even another girl, and then comes back and now she's some woman that works with him. What did you want to say?

00:41:22 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 7:

I think he knows this Catherine chick, but I don't think she's in his life anymore. I think he might have had an affair with her, and now it's over, and he's pissed about it. That's why he doesn't want her name on the account anymore because she probably lost him.

00:41:39 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

So you think it's not a long-term relationship? It's a short-term thing?

00:41:43 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 7:

I think so. I think because there's so much denial, a lot of these guys will just, you know, come back and say, yeah, okay, I did something. But I think there is no Catherine anymore because she probably left him when she found out he was married.

00:41:58 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it could be. Barbara's mad at us. Why are you mad at us?

00:42:03 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, because first of all, I know you think that all men are liars and cheaters and dogs, and I just don't believe that. to me he sounded wait a minute you know what before i start yelling at you guys i have to say i do love mojo in the morning thank you thank you absolutely favorite and spike i love you too now back to what i was saying okay everybody is not a freaking cheater right you know what i mean to me it sounded like he was telling the truth i wouldn't tell you my personal business is that it's enough he told you everything that he said and then when his wife got on the phone then he explained who katherine was now i wouldn't give you her phone number so you can call her on the radio station and get all her personal business her father died all right it's just very it's

00:42:49 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 3:

just very i mean you have to think it's kind of funny you guys are always thinking everybody is no but i think we definitely give people the benefit of the doubt barbara but i think that when when you say that you don't know somebody which he did at first and then all of a sudden he was like well i i she is somebody that i work with and then we find out that there's nobody At his workplace with that name You have to get a little suspicious

00:43:10 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 1:

And Barbara, we don't listen to what they say As much as how they say it And that's where the clues are When he changes his story and stumbles on it Go ahead, Barbara, what else would you like to say?

00:43:19 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, let me say this much Yes, he didn't tell the people At flower.com That explained who the girl was You know what I mean? But then when his wife got on the phone He said, well, Catherine, it's this girl Maybe he just don't want to tell her Because she's really jealous is obviously she couldn't just ask him. They don't have the type of relationship to where she can go and say, hey, I found this on your credit card. Who is this? And then he would tell her, or maybe he wouldn't.

00:43:46 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Barbara, you are a beautiful human being. I love you for the fact that you listen to us, but I think that you are completely gullible.

00:43:53 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 4:

I think you got to do a little bit more church in your life and believe that everybody's got to do it.

00:43:58 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, that I'll agree with.

00:44:01 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 4:

Well, look, like I said before, I love you guys, So keep doing your thing, but just remember what I said. Some people are honest.

00:44:08 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

Barbara, pray for us, okay?

00:44:11 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 4:

I definitely will. I listen to you every day on my way to work. So as long as you're there, I'm safe. So I'll definitely pray for you. All right.

00:44:17 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 2:

I love you. Thanks, Barbara. Take care of yourself. Thanks so much.

00:44:20 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day, you guys.

00:44:21 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 2:

00:45:00 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Hey, former President Donald Trump traveled to East Palestine, Ohio, yesterday as Republicans criticized President Joe Biden for not spending really any time at the site of that derailment of the train carrying hazardous materials. The former president spoke for about 10 minutes at a firehouse a half mile from the derailment site, saying the community needs answers and results, not excuses. After speaking, he went to the local McDonald's where he handed out hats and bought a bunch of food for the police and fire departments. Hats. Yeah. Ohio Governor DeWine grilled by the media yesterday.

00:45:38 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 4:

I think I've been pretty strong. I said, we're not leaving. We're staying. We have the best experts. We're going to listen to the experts. I think I was pretty clear when I said, pardon me? Would you stay in East Palestine? Would you come and spend the night there? Until the cleanup is done, you'll stay with us within the one mile? Yes. Yes, I've been there. I've been there three times. For a few hours. Will you stay overnight for a period of time?

00:46:10 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, I saw they've been criticizing him for kind of going in for a quick press conference, then leaving and not spending much time there. And I mean, I hate to see all the political finger pointing and blame game going on. I think President Biden obviously should have been there faster to respond to this. And everyone involved has fumbled the bag on how they handle this. But like we pointed out last week, Governor DeWine did not accept President Biden's offer for help the first days after this mess. And he didn't declare it a hazmat emergency so that federal agencies could go into help until day nine.

00:46:40 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 3:

Has he applied for FEMA yet?

00:46:42 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, yes, he finally did quietly on Friday night in the news dump. But still, federal agencies like FEMA, the DOT, EPA, they cannot show up and get to work until the state allows them to. And that just didn't happen for almost two weeks until the public scrutiny and the national attention. I mean, we started shouting about it. TikTok started shouting about it. And finally, the train derailment started to get attention where it was being swept under the rug. and they were letting the very company that caused the spill be the only ones to handle the cleanup.

00:47:14 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 3:

Do you think it was intentional so that they could blame politicians for not showing up when they didn't file the paperwork? Well, obviously, yeah.

00:47:22 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, obviously it's big blame.

00:47:24 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 3:

These are people's lives that are at stake. I don't care how you feel politically. These are lives. Yeah, that's my point.

00:47:30 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 1:

The poor people of East Ohio and Western PA have to worry about breathing the air and drinking the water while everybody goes on cable news and points their fingers and tries to get everybody else in trouble before the next election. Even Trump offered hats instead of, like, a stay at his hotel so they didn't have to live at... Or water! Water! Well, and nobody... I didn't watch... I saw a little bit of coverage yesterday, but nobody in the press was even asking him on the ground that, like, his administration eliminated a lot of these rail safety rules and regulations, including the one explicitly intended to prevent oil tankers from exploding and requiring new brakes to, you know, reduce the risk of derailment. And he downsized the EPA, but it's like everybody just wants that camera time and they just want to get out there and be seen.

00:48:12 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 2:

In Other Dirty this morning, Elliot Page is set to star in his first ever fragrance campaign. He was announced as one of the faces of Gucci's Guilty for Men's Scent, Julia Garner and A$AP Rocky. Also going to be representing Gucci Guilty Fragrances in the campaign. Those are all set to drop on March 1st. Sam Smith teasing a brand new cameo appearance in the second season of the Sex and the City spinoff. And just like that, yesterday I saw he posted a photo on location in New York City with the caption, up to something unholy on set. That post also shared by the official Instagram account of the show. Yeah, I couldn't, and I was such a diehard Sex and the City fan. I could not make it through, I think I made it through three or four episodes.

00:48:55 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 1:

I tried. It was not good. I don't know, Megan, did you like it? It seemed like they were trying to wedge in with a shoehorn every social issue.

00:49:02 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 2:

You didn't watch Sex and the City, did you? I'm not. Yeah, she's not a fan.

00:49:05 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was.

00:49:07 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Because I'm so youthful.

00:49:10 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

Listen, my kids are all on like a kick right now with Friends and Seinfeld and all shows even older. So they all come around.

00:49:17 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 3:

I remember the only time I was allowed to watch Sex and the City was like when I got to stay home from school sick and reruns would play on E. On E.

00:49:24 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 1:

All day. Yeah, the sanitized versions. Yep.

00:49:28 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 2:

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine suing the car dealer who sold him a 1971 Maserati. He says the vintage car is fake. He filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California over the $950,000 deal in which he traded in two of his classic Ferraris for this Maserati. This went down back in 2020 during the pandemic. He alleges that classic car dealer Rick Cole or those who work with him faked documents pertaining to this Maserati and engine. Authentication Authentication No, I got you My brain just was not working right there That word doesn't look right on paper Yeah, it doesn't And Lizzo making an appearance with Cookie Monster On Sesame Street to play a flute Made entirely out of cookies Of course

00:50:17 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes, Ms. Lizzo, Sesame Street's famous Cookie flute

00:50:21 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 1:

I've played a lot of instruments But I've never played a cookie before May I? Go for it

00:50:28 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Can me try?

00:50:31 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Of course. I didn't know you played the fluke, Cookie Monster.

00:50:35 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 4:

Me don't. Eat it. I love something. Get it. Mike, spoiler alert. Oh, my God. Sorry.

00:51:01 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show So you got to come clean on something The other day I was dressed nicer than I normally am Normally I just wear like a sweatshirt, you know, pair of jeans Or sometimes I'll just put it like on a quarter zip and a polo shirt or something And the other day, I was dressed a little bit more professionally. I was wearing some black pants with a gray sweater and a button-up shirt. And I was asked the question of, why are you dressed so nice?

00:51:36 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 3:

You complimented and then asked the question.

00:51:40 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 1:

And I, well, that was it. That's true. You did say thank you for that, too, the compliment. You just say, you look very nice. What's going on today? And I just, you know, kind of came up with a bunch of BS. Well, I couldn't say what I had to say. or what I truthfully was doing because I didn't know if I could. And then I did what I had to do that day, which I had to go to court on Monday. And it was not for me, but it was for somebody that I know and I'm close to. And I did something on Monday that I have never done before, but I wonder if any of our listeners or if any of you guys have ever done before. I was actually a character witness for somebody. Really? So I went into court. It was actually not what you'd see on television. I was kind of disappointed. I thought that I was going to go in and I was going to get the whole, you know, raise your right hand. You swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, nothing but the truth. But it was more so I was being interviewed and I was not, you know, having to because it was not me swearing before the court. It was more so me talking to a judge. And there were attorneys there, and there were people that were, you know, for both, there was two sides. A long story short, not giving out too much information because I was asked not to, somebody that I know that I am very close to and Chelsea is very close to and our kids are very close to is going through a divorce, and there is a custody issue that is going into play. And so I character witnessed for this guy who is a good father and just a actually is a great father and a great man. And so I had to go to court and I had to sit there and tell the judge. My feelings about him and some of the close ties that we have and my kids and all the rest of this stuff. Yeah. And so it was a little bit weird because to me going to court and I've only been to court a few times. I've been to court because I had jury duty and then I've been to court because I got to meet a judge locally who said, would you ever want to come and witness what we do? And so I sat in on her courtroom and I got to watch a couple of cases. You love that. Yes, I do love it. And then I've been to court for something I didn't love, which was I had to go to traffic court and I had to do the whole, you know, your honor, please don't give me all these points because of my insurance will go up which by the way that court is by the to me was more stressful than any other the other situations that I've had because the the whole going for traffic which I'm sure many of you guys have probably had to do it's kind of a tough one but this was a weird situation because I know the couple and I know what's going on here and I and I know that the couple's going through a real bad struggle and you guys know what it's like to go through a divorce and I know it's not probably an easy situation even though it sounds to me like your guys's situation

00:54:38 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 1:

thank god was not you know what these guys are going through it's still not fun and I have

00:54:43 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 3:

friends going through divorces right now that are really just and a family member really really

00:54:47 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 1:

messy and and ugly and and I'm gonna I'm gonna say this and I know I'll piss off somebody on this one but I always believe that the messiness comes into play when lawyers come into play like i think that when lawyers come into play and no offense to you lawyers i've got a brother and i've got a niece that are lawyers but you guys make it messy it's not so much the the people that make it messy you guys are the ones that bring the messiness into this

00:55:16 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

or is that just when it becomes more like real and official no they make it messy because they

00:55:22 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 2:

remember they get paid by the hour yeah they're looking for things yeah i've watched some bad lawyers drag out divorces make it 20 times worse on the relationships on the families and on the on the checkbook obviously okay they'll drain your bank account and drag it out when you really don't

00:55:38 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 1:

need to well in in the sad thing is that before the divorce these guys were co-parenting in such an amazing way and then when the divorce came into play all of a sudden it calls into question how horrible of a human being each person is. And so I was brought in along with a bunch of people. I mean, there was a ton of different people. Each side had like five or six people that they could bring in to be character witnesses for them. I think my character witness part, you guys would be proud of me, was a good one because I wasn't speaking as Mojo. I was speaking as my real name, Tom, because the person that I know I know because of my children and it's somebody that my children have had a great experience with and so uh what ended up happening was I sat down they asked me questions the lawyers got to ask me questions the judge asked me a ton of questions and I gave out the the I said the truth yeah and I and I you know uh I said you know this person should be in their child's life and honestly I will say this to you guys I sat there and I thought to myself while I was doing this um or actually before I was doing this when I was watching other people do it I thought if I were in this position who would I call as my character witness because I saw some of the people that he called and you know there was family there's his you know his mother so there's the you know the grandmother and then there were you know mentors of him you know that were there like teachers and and a pastor and stuff like that and then there's like me who honestly I've only known this person for 15 years or so so it's not like we you know have known each other for life we've we came into each other's life like maybe 15 years ago but um I thought to myself I'm like if I need character witnesses who would I call yeah would I could Chelsea, my wife, it depends on if I really pissed her off like the day before. I'd call Aunt Pat because Aunt Pat, I could commit a murder and Aunt Pat would take the fall for me.

00:57:51 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 2:

But for that reason, I don't even think they call family. I don't think they call siblings and spouses. I think you need someone who's not related. So I think your boss, Tony, would obviously, you guys are good friends. I think you'd be a good character. And then your barista. He'd be a great one. Starbucks, your barista would.

00:58:06 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 1:

actually Tony would be a good one that would be a really good one Tony would be a good character witness I'd call him I couldn't have Jeff Sackwell my buddy be a character witness because he would talk way too much because that was one of the things too is like don't overly explain things just be right direct to the point and all I kept thinking to myself was this is so hard for me I actually did I did something that we do on the air all the time that we call on the show it's always when you're in the middle of a topic you've got to make sure that the listeners know what the topic's all about so I did the whole thing where I'm having a conversation and talking and saying and again we're talking about this and I did the whole hey it's Mojo in the morning how are you call the phone number here right now I'm recapping the whole thing there

00:59:00 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 3:

what we've got coming up

00:59:02 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But who would you guys call as your character witness? Who would be your character witnesses?

00:59:06 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 3:

I would call my like my my best friends. I would call my friend Ashley.

00:59:14 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 1:

I feel like she knows me kind of inside it out. My friend Lindsay and Ashley is a good example of you don't need to know a person for your whole life because you've not been.

00:59:22 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 3:

No, I've only been friends with them for probably five years, but they are, you know, they are my people. I would call my friend Tammy because she, I've been friends with her for a very long time. And she is just my, I just, she knows like all of the, you know, all of the messy about me. I would call Wes. I would call my ex-husband, Andrew. That's a good one to have. I really, really would.

00:59:45 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 1:

People wouldn't expect that.

00:59:47 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 3:

No, I would call him. I would call, I'd call you.

00:59:50 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one too, but you better be nice to me. I mean, I feel like I'm nice to you. All right. You look very nice to me.

00:59:55 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 3:

That's the second time I complimented you.

00:59:57 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 1:

Spike, who would you call? Who would be your character? Definitely, you guys would be one at the top of the list because you've known me every day at the worst hour of the morning for over a decade. So I think you know the true me. I would also call my best friends Todd and Tim. And then I would probably also call – there's at least one or two bartenders that I know on the regular that they can speak for my personality.

01:00:21 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 4:

Think about bartenders, hairstylists, people who actually know you pretty well.

01:00:27 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 1:

Because they can say, I've heard all his secrets, and I've seen the best and worst of customers, and I can tell you he's very even-keeled, he's very nice to people.

01:00:35 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my lash lady.

01:00:37 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 3:

Your lash lady's a good one. That would actually be good. Megan, you'd have to call your brother.

01:00:43 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Can you call your brother? I know, that's why I didn't say my sister.

01:00:47 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 3:

No, they had...

01:00:48 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 4:

You can do family?

01:00:49 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 3:

There was a sibling, yes. Actual family? That was this one, yes.

01:00:52 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 4:

I feel like if I was the judge, though, I'd be like, biased.

01:00:55 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 3:

No, because here's the deal. Not all the time do your brother or sisters like you.

01:01:00 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 4:

That's true.

01:01:01 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 1:

But if you're volunteering the one, if you're calling the one to stand, then it's obviously a good one.

01:01:10 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 4:

I don't think I'd call you guys. Genuinely. If I were to call anybody from the show, it would probably be Mike.

01:01:18 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's a good one.

01:01:20 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 4:

He's really nice. I'd call Mike for sure.

01:01:22 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 1:

I wouldn't call on Megan for help because she'd never see the text. You'd never be there for me

01:01:27 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 4:

This is why I wouldn't You proved my point Thank you very much

01:01:32 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 3:

Misfit Victor What are you calling about?

01:01:37 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 2:

All you'd have to do is call me That's all you'd have to do

01:01:40 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 3:

You would be the worst character witness

01:01:42 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 2:

Why would I be the worst character witness? I could give so many examples Of how many times you've talked me off the ledge And what you've done for me It would be great That's all you need

01:01:53 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Victor, let me just say this They would look at your social media, and they would right away go, this guy's a bad guy.

01:02:00 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I'm just saying, I have nothing but high regard for you.

01:02:05 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, let me ask you a question. If you had to character witness for Mike, okay, you listen to the show on a very frequent basis. You have to character witness for Mike right now, who is right now in a little bit of hot water. All right, I'm the judge. So, Misfit Victor, tell us your relationship with Mike.

01:02:27 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 2:

I think Mike is a longtime friend of mine. I bought him this microwave egg thing, and he likes it a lot. He's a great dad, a great husband.

01:02:37 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, you say he's a great dad. Give me an example of why he's a great dad.

01:02:42 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I just see the social media posts that he posts with his kids, and his kids love him a lot.

01:02:47 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 3:

How do you really know they're his kids?

01:02:49 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember his birthday on, like, his bosses?

01:02:52 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:02:52 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 2:

I would never call it in.

01:02:54 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 3:

I've got to bring that up. Yeah. They ask questions like that. How do you really know that? You know, it's like they ask these questions. I'm like, you're trying to throw me off here right now. Why are you doing this whole thing? I've got a whole monologue that I want to say. All right, Spike, you're on Megan now. You get to character witness for Megan.

01:03:11 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 1:

I first came into contact with Megan over six years ago when we added her to the family that is the Mojo in the morning show. In my six years of knowing her, she's demonstrated a responsibility and an enthusiasm, a spirit which is contagious.

01:03:29 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Really? Wait, wait, wait, real quick. Excuse me. Let me stop you for a second. I'm the opposing lawyer. Responsibility. Didn't you guys have to bust down her apartment door once because she didn't show up to work?

01:03:39 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, I wasn't there. There's a lot of things that you hear about in media that, as we know now, are called fake news. And I wasn't there at her apartment, so I don't know anything about that. But I do know that she, here's her character in one sentence. She will eat Waffle House in the morning when she's sober. Oh, wow. That is amazing. That's not positive.

01:04:09 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 3:

Okay, maybe her judgment's not there. Excuse me. Strike that from the record. Courtney, who would be your character witness?

01:04:19 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 2:

Definitely not my sister. She'd be the first one to throw me under the bus. Snaffling. When you laugh so hard, you snort. You might do that at Spike's phone scan. This is Morning at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:04:35 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Megan, I'm not poking fun at you or picking on you. It just so happens that you're scheduled for this topic right now Okay

01:04:46 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 4:

Tell the Oh no this is me Tell everybody

01:04:53 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 3:

Because I know people are going to say Well look at Mojo's piling on Megan I'm not piling on Megan But this is very funny she um she's having issues with her phone and what's the issue my phone's calling me out it's

01:05:08 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 5:

really being disrespectful almost as disrespectful as mojo is on a regular basis and that is uh my phone does not have facial recognition for me when i don't have makeup on I swear to God, I got a new phone, and I cannot log into my phone unless I have makeup on with just my facial ID. Otherwise, I have to type in my passcode, and I feel disrespected by a machine. I don't like it.

01:05:40 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 3:

All right. Share this with us. Who doesn't recognize you or what doesn't recognize you when you dress up? So today I'm wearing a sweater With a pair of black Pants Shannon comes in and goes What's the big thing that you got going on today

01:05:58 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm like can't I dress nice No back up You are wearing a very nice sweater Over a collared crisp That's dry cleaned That's a dress shirt Button down dress shirt And I complimented you first by the way I said you look really nice Where are you going today

01:06:15 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Megan I know the feeling And my friend Shannon doesn't recognize me when I dress up.

01:06:21 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 4:

I am going to dish this right back to you. I love when the days you're like, oh, you're wearing makeup. What do you have after the show today?

01:06:30 - 01:06:40 | Speaker 3:

I only did that when you started dating again. I could tell when Shannon was going to go on dates, she wasn't wearing her Tigers hat. It would be like three days in a row.

01:06:40 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, we've gone downhill real quick. Last night, Wes and I went out to dinner, and I wore a sweatshirt, sweatpants that I had worn to bed the night before in August.

01:06:50 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 2:

This is why I just keep my mouth shut. Whatever you guys are wearing, I don't say, well, I have said to Shannon before, laundry day.

01:06:57 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 5:

It hurt my feelings when my friend Jillian came into work, and not even that I was wearing makeup or jeans. She went, you washed your hair. And then I was like, that's a new low. That's a new low.

01:07:08 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 2:

So what's your phone doing? It's not actually – it just doesn't recognize you at all.

01:07:13 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it does that, like, thing where the lock thing, like, vibrates and then your phone vibrates and goes, please enter passcode.

01:07:20 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 2:

That's really insulting because my phone is – I feel like it's too easy now. Like, it's recognizing me with the mask on. It's recognizing me when I'm laying in bed and half my face is covered by a pillow. I feel like my phone's just giving up on me and just letting anybody in there.

01:07:34 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 3:

I actually am surprised at how many times I'll hear stories of people whose significant others will grab their phone and just put it over their face to get into their phone like when they're sleeping. Because I always thought that your eyes had to be open in order to do it. They're supposed to be, yeah. Yeah, and some people, like you said, I think sometimes it gets a little easier.

01:07:51 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that part of it? Is it like, is your eye?

01:07:54 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, spitting the retina it's supposed to. It's not supposed to do with closed eyes for that reason, but I know spouses have also touched fingerprint on your phone when you're sleeping.

01:08:02 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Do they still have fingerprint on the newer model ones?

01:08:05 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 2:

Or maybe not now. I hope they can.

01:08:09 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 3:

Texters here, Megan, I know your feeling. I actually wore makeup, showed up at work, and my coworker said, Hi, how are you? Treating me like a customer. Isn't that the worst feeling? Have you guys ever done that to a coworker? Have you ever done the whole, Hi, nice to meet you?

01:08:30 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I work here. No, I know. I mean, today it's really nice to meet you. Every day is a good day to wake up and get out of bed.

01:08:38 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Becca, what's up?

01:08:40 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 6:

If I eat really unhealthy, then my face falls up from inflammation and my face recognition does not work.

01:08:48 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

So you have to choose. Do I want my phone to recognize healthy me or unhealthy me?

01:08:54 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I happen to eat once a week.

01:08:57 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 1:

A lot of poor hiring decisions made by management led to this show, which explains Megan for sure. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:09:04 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, time now for a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. And this phone scam is prime example as to if you give us enough information, we can really have some fun with someone. So go to our website, mojointhemorning.com. Click the menu bar up at the top of the page, and it will bring down phone scam submissions. And then just fill out all the information. This is somebody that did it. But Christy says that her husband is like a little crazy about this house stuff that they've been trying to do. They've been thinking about doing some work on their house. They actually went out of town, and the guy who is supposed to be doing an estimate on their house is going to give them the estimate while they're away. But mom is staying at the house. So her mom, Christy's mom, his mother-in-law, is staying there. She wants us to call him up and make him really nervous about this estimate that is getting done. Spike's going to.

01:10:00 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 1:

to take it like one step further it's a mojo in the morning phone scam you're home with the phone scam no no no hold on let me no no no this is mojo in the morning you hold on i'm about to disrespect you right now hello hello i'm calling for brian whalen please yeah this is brian sir it's reggie from construction and i just want to give you an update on everything do you have a second uh yeah yeah i got a second okay well we got the sidewall removed uh took a little longer than expected because we didn't know there was going to be landscaping to remove but it's all plasticed up and ready for the builders to start framing out tomorrow oh hold on uh what are you talking about i just want to give you a heads up in case you came home and you wondered where where we are what we did and why we stopped you know because it's i think you actually might have the

01:10:53 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 3:

wrong person i never asked for anything you did removed you're at 220 road yeah we started the

01:11:01 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 1:

garage next door the extension from your home what are you talking about you tore it down well yeah we weren't gonna waste any time we got it started for you so we have the the frames are up the beams are up but we had to stop and just get some landscaping moved and get the other uh backhoe in here so it's gonna take we're gonna start fresh tomorrow do you need construction on my house today? Yes, sir. No delay.

01:11:23 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 3:

I asked you to do an estimate. I didn't ask you to do any construction on my house. Did you tear apart my house? Okay. Uh... I don't get it. I promised you I never asked you to do that. You know that I didn't. Right.

01:11:37 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 1:

I talked to Barbara here. Is that your mother-in-law? Yes, that's my mother-in-law. She's not the one who's making decisions about my house. Well, I told her we were getting

01:11:45 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 3:

started. She was very nice. No, no. Listen to me. Listen to me. I asked you for an estimate today. I did not want any work to

01:11:51 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 1:

get done. Okay, well, I don't understand why she wouldn't stop us if she saw us with the sledgehammers coming through the wall.

01:11:57 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 3:

She's senile. She has no idea what's going on. I told her to stay in the house, and I told her to ignore people that are coming outside because they just want an estimate. What the f*** did you do to my house?

01:12:07 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, uh, there's a 12x9 hole on the side of your house. I mean, she offered us coffee. Very nice lady. This is bulls***, man. Stop the construction right now. Stop the construction right now. I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the construction noise. Okay, listen to me. I did stop. Sir, that's why I stopped and that's why we're talking. I wanted to let you know we had to stop. We're going to start fresh. Well, I'm not done. We just got started. There's a big hole in the side of your house where the garage. No, listen, that's the

01:12:42 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 3:

problem. That's the biggest problem of all. I don't want you to do it. Guys, stop, stop, stop,

01:12:47 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 1:

Guys, hang on. The backhoe is getting a little too close to my GMC Canyon parked out front. Okay, they're bringing the bulldozer back now. It's good. I'll tell them all to stop. Tell them all to stop what they're doing. Okay, sir. Stop doing any more damage. Okay, sir, I can tell you're upset. So these guys aren't going to stop unless Marco tells them to stop. I can't stop them. The Lord Savior can't stop them.

01:13:12 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Tell Marco to tell them to stop.

01:13:13 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to try and get Marco. I mean, no one else. They won't listen to me.

01:13:17 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 3:

on the phone. Put the f***ing Marco guy on the phone.

01:13:19 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't think Guy Fieri can get them to stop if he pulled up and offered them downtown to Flavortown. You know what I'm saying?

01:13:24 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 3:

What the f*** are you talking about? I'm looking in your

01:13:27 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 1:

living room right now, and I don't want to be a peeping Tom, but your mother-in-law's watching TV in a robe, and I feel like a creeper. I just say maybe I shouldn't leave this hole open. Maybe we should put a plywood board

01:13:37 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 3:

or something. Listen, I'm driving back right now. I'm on my way back home. I'm going to take care of it. I want you to get the f*** away from my house. Sir, I'm working

01:13:43 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 1:

for you. I just want you to know.

01:13:45 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it doesn't sound clear.

01:13:57 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, your hole is my goal, and my thing is I'm going to make sure we get this taken care of because tomorrow morning the other construction guys are coming to start the garage portion. You're f***ing me right now. You guys are f***ing me. I'm so sorry, and this is my fault, but I can't hear you over all the loud construction noise. Did you say stop all construction? Stop all construction. Okay, sir, I hear you yelling. Are you talking to me or someone else that's over there with you?

01:14:27 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm talking to you over the phone, guys, but I'm in my car.

01:14:30 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you're in your car. Can you hear the radio, sir? You're on the radio. It's a phone scam. This is not a construction. You're on the radio right now with Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:42 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 3:

You almost gave me a heart.

01:14:44 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 1:

Are you kidding me? This is Christy's idea. I know. You guys are finally away on a vacation, but... Oh, Jesus.

01:14:52 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 3:

I turned my car around. I turned my car around.

01:14:55 - 01:14:55 | Unknown:

Ah!

01:14:57 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will...

01:15:00 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 4:

We'll scam you. You're home with the phone scams. This is Mojo in the Morning. One down.

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Unknown:

One down.

01:15:12 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 4:

Make some noise. For Mojo. Mike Shannon. For Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:30 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 3:

bojo in the morning show we're moving on we're going pg rated on this one here guys Keep your kids listening. Mike and that cute family, man. What a beautiful family. I saw the picture, Mike. We posted up on our Instagram of this family that the parents or the dad reached out to Mike through going to that Post Malone concert and seeing Arcadia at the concert and said that he named his daughter Cecily after Mike's daughter Cecily. These guys got a chance, the families did, to get together. Where were you guys?

01:16:23 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

We went to, they're from Holland. So we went out to Holland and went to the Fall Fest that they have there right in downtown Holland. That's cool.

01:16:30 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 3:

And, you know, you've mentioned before that you don't feel like you have, like, a lot of friends' friends. Like, I know you said that before in the past. Could this not be a couple that you guys are now friends with? You guys look like you're around the same age. They seem like really nice people. Like, you could be hanging with the dad and, you know, Allie can hang with the mom and stuff.

01:16:51 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was really cool because like there isn't a lot of I'm finding and maybe I just got to get out there and search more. There's not a lot of people in their mid 30s with like young kids. Their kids are usually older or they don't have kids. So we're stuck in like this weird limbo right now. And they were just a really cool family. And like, I don't know, I'm very proud of very few things in my life. Very few things. but one of the things that I'm most proud of is being a dad and watching these kids grow, and so it was a cool experience.

01:17:24 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 3:

And you should be, yeah. You've got a beautiful family. So it was cool. It was nice to see that picture. You can go check it out on our Instagram, Facebook. We posted it on both of them, and really, really cute family, nice family, and thank you to everybody that listens to us in West Michigan. So what's going on with your phone case? What's the story with your phone case?

01:17:43 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 2:

So after we meet them and my daughter introduces herself and that was just a cool moment. And at some point in getting back into the car, I realized that I had some like these condoms that have been sitting in my car forever. I had no idea. So I stuffed them in my phone case and we decided we're going to take a picture in front of like the downtown Grand Rapids. And so we asked these people as we're walking by or as they're walking by, hey, could you, would you mind taking, you know, taking photos for us, taking a picture or two of us and standing in front of us like a little family picture? Because it takes us a couple of minutes with Milo trying to sit still and my daughter's not paying attention. Like it takes a few minutes. And so there's also people walking through and then everybody stops because we're in a spot where you either walk through or you can stop and wait. So we got a little bit of a crowd around us and they go to take the photo and they're taking a few that were great about it. And I realized these bright gold Trojan condoms are sitting in the back of my phone. And that's all you can see as they're taking pictures. So I'm like, oh, my gosh, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up. And all you can see in the back of the phone case is these bright condoms. And people are looking at it. And I'm waiting for them to flip my phone around and look at it. It was the most embarrassing thing in the entire world.

01:18:57 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm always loving when people will say, hey, can we take a picture? Sometimes we out and about like Friday night. You and I, Shannon, took pictures with some listeners when we were out, and they'll pull their phone out, and they instantly will start scrolling to find the camera thing, and you'll look at their phone's, like, screensaver, and they might have, like, a weird interesting picture.

01:19:16 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, the best is when they're like, I met you in 2019 at, you know, your Halloween party. Let me find the picture, and they're scrolling, and all you see is boobs.

01:19:26 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

And they're like, oh, my God.

01:19:28 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 3:

So where do you – hold on. I'm looking at my phone case. do you take the phone case off and you put it in between where where are these said trojans

01:19:39 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

so they were so yeah i take the phone case off and like i'll shove like business cards in there i've done that before i've shoved money in there if i don't feel like carrying a wallet business cards are flat but the trojan you're gonna be they say don't keep them in a wallet because they get damaged over time same with the phone i gotta imagine that can't be good for a trojan First of all, you're heating it up.

01:20:00 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, I didn't think about that. It probably loses all the effects, maybe, of being next to you. I was just afraid if I put them in my pocket, I know what's going to happen. I'm going to go reach in there to grab my phone and pull it out, and then it's just going to fall on the ground. So I had to get it out of the car because I just didn't want it sitting in there. The kids will go through it at some point. And so I'm like, I'm not going to put it in my pocket right this second because if I go to do that, it'll fall out. So I just threw it in the back of my phone case.

01:20:26 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 5:

Don't your kids ever use your phone to play? Like, doesn't Cecily ever sometimes get the phone, like, you throw it to her in the backseat just to keep her busy? Aren't you worried about that?

01:20:35 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 4:

No, not – no, because I would have saw it. My wife's phone at that point would have been an option, but I didn't think about it when I was handing it off to the people.

01:20:45 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's funny. What's going on, Gabby? Hello. What's happening?

01:20:50 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? Nothing. I'm just calling – well, I didn't call. I texted. But I was just saying, I think it would be really awesome to hang out with Mike, and I've heard a lot about Cecily, and I have a daughter who's five, and I think they would get along great.

01:21:10 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 5:

I love that about Mike, that Mike and Allie will, like, meet, they'll go out and about and meet a listener or two, you know, because people kind of relate to you guys so much, Mike, because a lot of our listeners are young families like you.

01:21:22 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate that. That's awesome. Actually, I met Mike because I won the helicopter ride on Valentine's Day.

01:21:29 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:21:30 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:21:31 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 5:

Mike, Mike.

01:21:32 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:21:32 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 5:

Is she crazy or what's the story?

01:21:34 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 4:

No, that was, remember, the helicopter ride where they did it in the back of the helicopter? Oh, wait. Oh, that's you. Oh, that's you. Oh, she's crazy. Gabby, you're crazy.

01:21:40 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, Gabby. We're keeping you as far away from Mike and his family as possible. I'm crazy. I'm fun. I don't know. Maybe a little more towards the crazier side than fun. A little bit of crazy is not bad. Yeah? All right. Well, you know what? Why don't we do this? We'll connect you guys off air, okay? All right, cool. That's nice. Mike and Allie are like the cutest family in the world, and they're so approachable and so nice. And it's funny how I'll get reports sometimes after you guys are out because you guys never stay home on a weekend. Yeah, so people will say they saw Mike and Allie out, and next thing you know, they're having, like, lunch with you guys, you know, that you guys are really good about just being very approachable to the listener.

01:22:21 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 4:

I try, I guess. I like hanging out with people who have kids the same age and any age, really.

01:22:30 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 5:

That's cool. And Cecily, she kind of is like a star, too. She has a little star power to her.

01:22:37 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you that after she met this little girl, she said, I feel kind of famous right now. Did you say you are? I didn't know what to say. I was like, yeah, that's, she's like, I'm going to go tell all my friends. And she's like that little, and she played with this little, you guys, she played with this little girl. And my wife watched her play with this little girl, the baby, the baby fever coming back. I don't know. I don't know. But it was, it was, it was so cool, man. Like, I don't know how to explain it. I might, I'll never experience anything like that again. And she, I tried to explain to her how big of a deal it was. And, and she just thinks she's a superstar now.

01:23:13 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 5:

By the way, the sales department would like to know what, uh, the talent TV is for cecily they'll be having her she's gonna be doing she'll be doing a cell phone store opening or something like that what's up tyler hi hey so i had texted um when i was five my mom used to

01:23:35 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 2:

take me to work with her and she worked at planned parenthood at the time and um she used to have me help her out and i'd be putting um what i didn't know at the time were condoms in a bag 10 of them at a time and then stapling it shut. He told me they were adult balloons, and if I blew on them, they'd make me sick.

01:23:55 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. Thanks for the call.

01:23:58 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 4:

Mike from Mojo in the Morning. He may have never made the team, but he was always a good ball boy. I think somebody said balls. I heard balls.

01:24:05 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 5:

Can't say balls on the radio. Gotta have balls do that.

01:24:07 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 4:

Pretty ballsy. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:17 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 5:

hey if you're a guy i want you to listen up spike is going to school you on some things that you should not do it's mojo in the morning show listen i'm no expert but my wise old age i've

01:24:35 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

definitely learned a few things and my friend's getting married in june so i thought okay i'm going to give a gift obviously and then I'm also writing out a little card just for the groom and I want to help my buddy out I took all my knowledge of successes and failures in my relationships and I also took all the things we've done on this show we've had many good topics we've I mean if you don't

01:25:00 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 2:

know about relationships from this show you're in trouble and i made a list of things he should never ever say to his new bride in the hopes you know for a long and happy marriage so i'm going to share these beginning ones here and then maybe if listeners want to call in and add to the list because like i said this is only my limited scope of my relationships of what i've been through good and bad and i'm sure people have some other suggestions but i'd like to suggest some things you should never say to a woman and the first one i know is easy and that is the simple phrase that could be the end of your life if you say it in the wrong place at the wrong time you never ever tell a woman just calm down oh that's bad in all the history of calm down no woman has ever calmed down by being told to calm down all you do is ratchet up yeah it like does the opposite yeah Same as relax. Don't ever say relax. And then along the same lines, it's no big deal. You cannot say to a woman it's no big deal. Because guess what? It's a big deal to her. It's a big deal. Yeah. That's why it's, you know.

01:26:08 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 1:

In the same vein, you're fine. You're fine. I'm not fine.

01:26:13 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 2:

You've had that, I'm assuming?

01:26:16 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:26:18 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you another one. what did you do all day oh if you work and your wife is a stay-at-home mom and doing all the handling all that stuff at home don't ever ask what did you do all day and uh this one is yet another one that i think you could she could blow a gasket if you ever say you're overreacting these all seem simple and yet i hear repeated offenses of guys in my life my buddies that make the same rookie mistakes on a

01:26:50 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 3:

regular basis. Why are we so dumb? And I say we because I have made that mistake. No, we all are.

01:26:56 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 1:

What do you think is the worst thing you ever said to Chelsea that just really got her going?

01:27:00 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 3:

Just a simple comment. I definitely have done the calm down, and I definitely have done the what did you do today thing. So what did you do today? Which was said in kind of a condescending way, but I didn't mean it in that. I really did want to just know what she did that day. But I said it Just after I had just gotten, you know, like this whole high horse thing of complaining about, you know, I can't never find anything or this whole thing. And so that so that was probably the worst. That was actually one of those ones where I almost thought that I was going to be spending the night at the Hampton Inn on M5. I thought that was the case.

01:27:39 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 2:

My big offense was something that wasn't even meant to be insulting or offensive or critical. I just chose poor words when I asked are you going to wear that? I just meant are you going to wear that because if that's what you're wearing I'm going to adjust what I'm going to wear but the way it came out was there's a problem with what you're wearing so it's not what I meant at all but by then it was forget it

01:28:05 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 1:

as soon as those words came out of your mouth my whole body just got numb

01:28:09 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

I was like are you going to wear that? and I just meant is that what you're wearing so I know what to wear But you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube Once I said the words, I'm like, well, I guess tonight's canceled I guess we're not going out

01:28:21 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

These are the six fighting words That all couples know and hate I'm going to give you these Mr. Words, fellas That you have to avoid Because they're just traps The six words are nothing Seriously Whatever Never mind Chill And fine Now, trust me Listen to me, fellas When you hear the word nothing You've got to automatically know Something

01:28:53 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 3:

What do you want to add to this list, Jerry? Hi Hey, how are you doing? Good The things that you should never say to your wife

01:29:06 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 4:

The four most famous words Is she's just a friend

01:29:11 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 2:

nothing sounds more guilty than she's just a friend yeah and jerry was she just a friend she was just a friend okay jerry i don't even know you can't let you got that guilty laugh

01:29:30 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 3:

afterwards oh hey uh is this uh kaz yeah kaz kaz what's up kaz hey you come home from work and

01:29:39 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 4:

And she asks you, did you notice I cleaned house?

01:29:43 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 3:

And what do you say?

01:29:45 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 4:

And you say, oh, yes, dear, it looks great.

01:29:48 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

Right.

01:29:48 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 2:

There's only one answer.

01:29:49 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 3:

By the way, when they say, did you notice, you should have noticed before they said didn't notice. Yeah.

01:29:57 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, hell no.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Nicole, what's going on? You wanted to add something to the list, huh?

01:30:05 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, not something that you shouldn't say to your wife, but about your wife. Don't introduce her to people as your first wife. Oh, geez.

01:30:15 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:30:16 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 8:

Wait, that's just like, why? We were in a friend group, and one of his friends said, oh, this is my wife. And it was obviously his new second wife. And my husband decided to say Oh, this is my first wife, Nicole Oh, so I took that totally differently

01:30:34 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 3:

You know how some guys joke Like this is my first wife Wink, wink, like insinuating She's not going to last for very long That's what I thought

01:30:42 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 5:

In their case, it didn't last for very long And that's why he said it Does he ever By the way, with relationships that are blended Like this, or where there's A divorce you should never bring up the ex-wife right or should you like absolutely not like you should you shouldn't bring up like anything about them like i or or can you without people getting crazy

01:31:06 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 8:

i guess it would depend on why they split if it was amicable or not

01:31:11 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 5:

yeah like my wife and i used to do this probably not a good thing to do

01:31:16 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 7:

probably not okay liz what's up hi good morning good morning what's going on nothing um so actually it's funny it's on the wife I'm a stay-at-home mom and my fiance he goes out and he works and everything and one day he came home and it was a rough day my four-year-old he's not the easiest person and um he comes home and he's like did you mop the floor today and I look at him and I'm like did I mop the floor today I'm like did I mop the floor Did I do the dishes? Did I do the laundry? Did I do all of this? No, not at all. I just sat around.

01:31:59 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 5:

By the way, when you just said all that stuff, I had this weird thing that shot up in my spine at that moment.

01:32:06 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 2:

It felt like I was in trouble.

01:32:09 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 7:

It's like immediate doghouse.

01:32:11 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 5:

You know what you should have done, Liz? You should have started throwing things on the floor. Did I mop the floor today? You know, one thing of whatever that's on the counter, then another thing on the counter. Um, what are some of the other things on your list, Spike? Did you go through all your list or no?

01:32:25 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 2:

Um, we also have, um, oh, here's, here's some that didn't come up. You're acting like my ex or you're acting like your mom.

01:32:36 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, oh, wow.

01:32:40 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And that's not a good idea.

01:32:42 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 2:

That's a, that's just dumb.

01:32:44 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 5:

Um, Larry actually has the mom one. What's up, Larry? How are you? Good. What's going on? things that you should never say to a woman?

01:32:53 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 6:

So whenever you're in any kind of dispute talking about your kids, you never bring up your own mother and how your own mom would handle it.

01:33:02 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 5:

What did you do? Explain.

01:33:04 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, just any time I would ever do that or will ever or do ever do that, my wife gets up. It seems to be a triggering point.

01:33:13 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 5:

It seems like one of those things you only do once. And then you go, oh, nope, not doing that again.

01:33:17 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 6:

No, I still do it because she's still a part of our life and we love her, but yes, it doesn't always go well.

01:33:24 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 5:

Does it happen more so with cooking and things like that, or when does it come up?

01:33:30 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 6:

Pretty much anything having to do with the kids or anything to do with raising the kids, anything we want to make.

01:33:43 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 5:

But can't you even say, like, I remember when I was a kid, my mom, or does that not go over well?

01:33:49 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 6:

That could also be triggering.

01:33:51 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Like that could actually come back and bite you in the ass?

01:33:54 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 6:

Possibly. Yeah. Just bringing it up can be triggering.

01:33:57 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What if you said, I hate my mom? Is that okay?

01:34:04 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 6:

That would be better.

01:34:07 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Bye. Bye.

01:34:13 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 4:

Here are some good ones. What's for dinner? Yeah. People hate that. And you look tired.

01:34:18 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a great one. Or the number one, I mean, we all know this, the number one phrase that starts an argument is what's for dinner.

01:34:26 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 5:

By the way, are there any things that you can say to a guy that gets them upset? Or do guys not get upset? Well, tell us. Well, I'm just wondering, because I don't ever get upset. People, I'm like, you know, I let things roll off my back.

01:34:39 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 4:

You lie so bad.

01:34:40 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm not as emotional as you guys are. Oh, that was one of the things that was next on that list.

01:34:45 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 1:

When all you want is to be left alone, but also get constant attention. Is that too much to ask? This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

That's breaking dirty right now. The man convicted of...

01:35:00 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 3:

Running down, rapper Nipsey Hussle sentenced to 60 years to life in prison. An L.A. judge handed down the sentence to Eric Holder Jr., who was found guilty of the 2019 murder of Nipsey. Remember, outside of that clothing store that he had found at the Marathon in the South Los Angeles neighborhood, actually, where both men grew up in very similar circumstances. But a big, big update to that case. Chris Harrison, who had a sweet gig hosting The Bachelor for almost 20 years, hasn't hosted for the past couple of seasons. But he is now responding to all of those rumors that ABC is thinking about bringing them back.

01:35:40 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 1:

Internal conversations are being had by ABC executives about bringing me back. Do I think these conversations have happened? Probably. I think it would almost be crazy not to. if you're running a business and that business sales are down 50 to 60 percent and you think there's something that could change that and fix that of course you're going to have that conversation you would be crazy not to have that conversation so the new guy is boring but

01:36:06 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 3:

is that really why ratings are down well i think i think that it's a lot of different things um

01:36:12 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

what were you gonna say megan do you have to bring him back or is it just time to get a new

01:36:16 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

host like is right who's not working yeah i don't know he said he thinks he's still you know liked

01:36:20 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 1:

by fans with the advent of this podcast the most dramatic podcast ever they've seen the numbers they've seen the response in my social media they're not deaf to all of that so am i shocked that these conversations are happening no it would not be a surprise in fact i would be shocked if

01:36:37 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 4:

they weren't happening he's trying to start these conversations right yeah i've been hearing this

01:36:41 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 3:

for a long time yeah you know for the past couple of months being a long time so yeah it would have

01:36:45 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

happened if it was going to happen they don't want to bring him back next time that i want a job i'm I'm just going to say, yeah, there's been talk that I might get that manager job. Yes, there's been talk that Mike may be hosting the morning show. And do I agree or disagree? I'm not going to say, but there's talk. Right. Am I open to the idea? Yes, I am.

01:37:02 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

Rumor has it that country singer Kelsey Ballerini cheated on her now ex-husband, Morgan Evans, with Drew Taggart from the Chainsmokers. Really?

01:37:10 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell you, the Chainsmokers have been weaving in and out of other people's timelines here for the better part of three years.

01:37:16 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 3:

So this alleged incident went down in 2019 at Lollapalooza. Apparently, Kelsey didn't come clean about it for a couple of years. The alleged affair, combined with a whole bunch of other issues, led to Kelsey and Morgan calling it quits over the summer.

01:37:29 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 4:

Now, I haven't heard a lot of country songs where the singer is the cheater. I know there's a lot of good cheating songs when you catch your spouse, but she's going to have to write one where she's a cheater. Alleged. Alleged.

01:37:39 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 2:

This happened a long time ago, and he stayed real quiet until she dropped new music, huh?

01:37:44 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 4:

Mmm.

01:37:45 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 2:

Mmm.

01:37:47 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 3:

Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert all agreed to return for the new Mean Girls movie. Or I should say, a new Mean Girls movie. Well, I don't know if it's happening. Talks have completely stalled over money. The stars of the original movie have remained really good friends over the years, and they all wanted to make a sequel. Problem is, Paramount doesn't want to pay the girls what they're worth. In fact, I'm told the offer was just downright disrespectful. That's how bad it was. Rachel McAdams, who of course played Regina George, was initially offered a larger dollar amount than the other three. But even still, negotiations are stalled at this point. Tina Fey, who wrote both the movie and the musical, is reprising her role as Miss Norbury. She is reportedly getting seven figures for that.

01:38:39 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 2:

The movie is not, it's the musical. So what do these girls want to be paid for a camera? No, that's separate. Okay. The musical is totally separate. This was going to be another movie. Fam, I'm more concerned about this musical right now. It's so good with updated jokes. It's so good.

01:38:57 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 3:

American Girl just unveiled their newest historical dolls. And I say that because they're straight out of the 90s. They're calling it historical number one. Oh, no. Oh, God. Twins, Isabel and Nikki Hoffman. The twins' backstory takes place in Seattle in 1999. Historical. They've got a desktop computer, one of those purple inflatable chairs, remember those, and the Pizza Hut Book It program. The twins are available for purchase online and at American Girl stores nationwide. Historical. And just a reminder, another chance to qualify for a trip to Hollywood. There we go. to attend Live with Kelly and Ryan's special Live After Oscar show in next hour's Dirty. So make sure you are listening for that. We'll hook you up with a $50 cash card just for qualifying. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Unknown:

And other phones game in minutes.

01:40:04 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 2:

Your call may be monitored or recorded.

01:40:09 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow, in this hour, we're giving away a trip to the iHeartRadio Music Awards. This is awesome because award shows can sometimes be boring, but I like that they kind of took the spine and the stiffness out of award shows when they invented the iHeartRadio Music Awards. It's our company. I'm going to brag for a second here. This is the 10th year we're doing it, and the nominees this year are stellar. Taylor Swift, Lizzo, Jack Harlow, Drake. Everybody's going to be at this award show, and we want you there, too. Caller 95 is Jennifer. Hi, Jennifer. Hi. You got me nervous for a second there. This is Jennifer, right?

01:40:48 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:40:49 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Are we in a delay? Hi, Jennifer. It's nice to have you on this morning. You're Caller 95. You're qualified for the trip to the iHeartRadio Music Awards. Well, thank you. Yeah, thank you. I'm glad you called in. Where are you calling from?

01:41:03 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm calling from Wyoming.

01:41:05 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so how are the roads there? Did you guys get hit like Metro Detroit?

01:41:10 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I work in Howland, so I work third shift. So I've been driving back and forth through the crap all night, but that's okay. Oh, man. We live in Michigan. It's just winter.

01:41:18 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:41:18 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 2:

And then, you know, it's inevitable.

01:41:20 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 3:

That's it. We're used to it. So it doesn't make it any easier, but it looks really pretty this morning. If you take out all the power outages, the fallen trees, the downwires. I like your silver lining. Yeah, I'm trying. I'm trying my best. All right. Well, we got you hooked up. You are now qualified for a trip for two, including the flights, the hotel stay, and, of course, tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023 at the Dolby Theater. That's happening March 27th. And we're going to give you a $100 Visa gift card just for qualifying. Hang on the line so we can get you all hooked up, okay? Thank you, guys. Sure. Hang on a second.

01:41:56 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. I think it might have been yesterday at this time that I was complaining about the office refrigerator thief. Yes. Now I have another coworker that I would like to complain about. But I know who this person is, okay? I'm going to lay the groundwork down for you that we have another, not a poop-a-trader, but a pee-a-trader in our midst. And you know what? I'm going to say this. We talk often on the show about people in our buildings that we have because there's three buildings we broadcast out of, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo. But there are the most disgusting human beings ever that work for our company, for iHeartRadio.

01:42:50 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 3:

Is this the pee-petrator I've been complaining about for years that doesn't lift the seat on the toilets and pees on top of the urinal? How does someone pee on top of the urinal? I don't understand this. Could not figure that out because it is high.

01:43:04 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 1:

My favorite ever was when we talked about that person. And everybody blames Slim because Slim was the tallest guy here. And Slim came to me to prove to me that he did not do it because he had a long enough penis. Oh, how did he prove that to you? Yeah, let's discuss that. We won't talk about that.

01:43:22 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 3:

No, but his name was cleared because after he no longer worked for us, it was still happening.

01:43:26 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 1:

It's still going on, yeah. All right, so let me express this one. This peepa traitor, we now know who it is. There's three people in the office. I don't know if they want me to name them, but there's three people in the office that have all come through process of elimination into believing that we have got that culprit. And the reason why, the person was on vacation and out of the office for a few days over the last couple of weeks. And when they are not here, there's no pee on the floor. So it's floor pee. Yes. Have you been in there today yet?

01:44:05 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 3:

I have gone in there yesterday. Somebody this morning obviously didn't zip up, walked away before they were done. You see a trail of pee from the urinal, like, goes back two feet away from the urinal. Like, they actually started to back up while still dripping. It's weird.

01:44:21 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. How do these people's homes look? I don't know what the story is with this.

01:44:26 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 3:

Don't you just shake, shake, shake? Yeah.

01:44:29 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 1:

Put it back in your pants and go. Well, you've got to do a tap. But this said person is an on-air radio personality. Okay, I'm going to say this. And it's the men's bathroom, so it's a male on-air radio personality. Can I guess? Don't say names on the radio. No, I'm not going to. Tony Travato on with us right now. Guys, our boss, Tony. Hello, Tony Travato. How are you?

01:44:51 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. I was trying to be quiet because I was in the bathroom taking samples.

01:44:55 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, oh, oh.

01:44:56 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Taking samples. Taking samples.

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, hello.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Program Director. You can take pee samples with your shoes.

01:45:04 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

So, Tony, through process of elimination, we have figured out who the peepa trader is.

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:45:12 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, no. You and I were talking about this last night. We were talking about, we were discussing that the peepa trader was off from work for a little bit, and Gina, the cleaning lady, didn't have to be cleaning pee off of the tile on the floor. Wait, I know who it is.

01:45:28 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 5:

But what happened is I called Mojo and I said, I just walked into the bathroom and it looks like somebody completely forgot that there was a urinal on the wall. Yeah. So there was like a sea of urine on the floor.

01:45:45 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 1:

That is nasty. You have to know that you're doing that. Shannon just wrote down her guess. And I'm right. And that's the exact person I thought the poop-a-trader was who was making a mess on the potty.

01:45:55 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, then he's got all sorts of issues. We need to get a port-a-potty here.

01:45:59 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Maybe this particular person is a little messy when it comes to going potty time. Maybe there was something like when they were a child or something.

01:46:09 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 5:

I think the only way to solve it is DNA samples. That's it.

01:46:13 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 2:

That is it. Tony, what's worse, the peeing on top of the urinal or the person that constantly pees on the floor?

01:46:20 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 5:

Well, I thought we decided Slim was the guy that was peeing on top of the urinal.

01:46:24 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 1:

We always thought that, but he cleared his name because after he no longer worked here, we still discovered that happening.

01:46:30 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 4:

And apparently he showed Mojo his penis to prove that it was long enough to go in.

01:46:35 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 5:

It's totally not true. I know it was not slim. He's way cleaner than that. Yes.

01:46:41 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 2:

Now he's peeing out in the middle of the forest of Costa Rica at this moment. He can pee anywhere he wants to.

01:46:47 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 1:

So I miss not having the second floor bathrooms anymore. We have only one floor in the office now because sometimes we would walk in there in the morning and such a bomb had gone off and it was such a mess that I would walk the extra mile, go downstairs to another floor just to use the bathroom. And now we don't have a choice. Now sometimes we come in and both stalls are destroyed and then the urinal looks like somebody did target practice.

01:47:11 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, Spike, I got a dirty secret here. There are some people that still go down there because they don't like to condense. Oh, wow.

01:47:21 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 2:

You know how cold it is on the first floor? I do not want to be in that cold.

01:47:25 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 1:

It's already a problem for me in any bathroom. I'm a grower, not a shower. So I got to, like, really snuggle up inside the urinal.

01:47:32 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 2:

Hey, can I ask you a question, Tony? Can't you write this person up for this, for peeing on the floor? Who is it? Who is it? Isn't there something that you can do? That'd be a fun write-up. I've never done that before. Could you imagine calling up the HR and saying, hey, I've got to write this person up? They're peeing all over the floor.

01:47:51 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 5:

And how do you monitor the progress of that? You're going to meet every 15 days to go home?

01:47:58 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 2:

That's true. You've got to actually make sure that they're better at their job. Hold on, Tony. What's worse? The person that pees on the floor here at the station? Or Matt, what was the coworker doing at yours?

01:48:09 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 6:

It wasn't a coworker. It was a club that I used to go to, like an Eagles or an Elks or something like that. Someone would always smear boogers on the wall at the urinal.

01:48:19 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 2:

Wait, they would pick their nose and wipe their boogers on the wall of the urinal.

01:48:26 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 6:

Correct. That's nasty.

01:48:27 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 2:

And what business was this that they were doing this at?

01:48:30 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 6:

It was like one of the lodges, like a club, like the Eagles or Elks or, you know.

01:48:34 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the Elks clubs and stuff like that.

01:48:36 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 1:

I've seen that here, too, over the urinal. So I'm like, well, maybe if you kept your hands on your junk and aimed a little better Instead of wiping boogers on the wall Who wants to touch anything in that bathroom A wall or otherwise

01:48:47 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever seen the people that go pee like this

01:48:49 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah They brace themselves They put one hand on the wall Or both hands on their hips And I go what are you doing What are you afraid of touching yourself What's going on down there

01:49:00 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable What's up Alan how you doing

01:49:03 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing alright how are you guys

01:49:05 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 2:

Good Alan Alan wants to defend anybody that has to pee on the floor Why is that Alan

01:49:10 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 3:

i'm just saying like if you're a guy and you have a penis you never get that all out you know you'll stand there for a half hour shaking that stuff's gonna fall on the floor it's gonna get in your

01:49:22 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 1:

underwear you know i'm highly there's a drip is one thing yeah there's a way to get around you're

01:49:28 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 4:

just you're leaving before you're done if you're leaving a stream because like i i mean full disclosure i had an issue after having the kids where i would stand up i thought i was done peeing and I'll pee a little bit more. If you pee on the floor, you can clean it up. It's not that hard. If you're leaving a trail out of the bathroom...

01:49:46 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 2:

Maybe we need wet wipes right next to the urinal there where you can pull one down and...

01:49:52 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 4:

Or toilet paper. Maybe you'll need toilet paper on top of the urinal.

01:49:55 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I know when guys get older, their prostate doesn't work as well. The vacuum seal's not there anymore.

01:50:00 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 7:

just have to wait another couple seconds and make sure everything's done oh my but the the urinals are designed they come out of the wall nine inches underneath you they scoop every so that you you just got to get close enough people aren't getting close jenny this is the most

01:50:15 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 6:

disgusting thing ever jenny what is it that you guys have in your urinals at work so i worked at

01:50:21 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 3:

a fourth bar and we had corn in the urinal and we don't even serve corn we don't even serve corn Thank you so much That's all I can hear

01:50:32 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 7:

Corn!

01:50:36 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 3:

How?

01:50:37 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 7:

Jenny, you said you don't even serve corn Somebody brought their own corn and left it in the urinal No, they

01:50:42 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 3:

Someone had like a farmer's corn in their pocket And put it in the urinal And they put the urinal cake out of the urinal And brought it out to the patio And we had to see the urinal cake on the ground Oh my god What is wrong with humans? Where do you work?

01:50:59 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 6:

They serve some strong drinks there. Wow. Hold on a second. I've got to voice this guy as this next caller here. Jane, hi.

01:51:08 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:51:09 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 6:

Why do you want to be voice this guy?

01:51:11 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Because I used to be a chief of staff, and I had an office in California. And every day I had to watch the cameras there because I'm in Michigan. They're in California. And this guy was relieving himself every day in a red solo cup. and then he would do something disgusting afterwards. But I had to fly to California to tell him that I'm watching him every day do this on camera.

01:51:39 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 6:

Was he in his cubicle or something, sitting there in the red solar? No.

01:51:43 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 2:

He was just sitting at the office at his desk with his red solar cup every day.

01:51:50 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that is a dedicated employee right there that won't even take the time to get up to go to the bathroom.

01:51:54 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 6:

Tony, Tony, we should hire him as a board op, Tony, here at the station

01:52:01 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 1:

I think the answer is we need better targets inside the urinal, Spike I think that's what we've come to

01:52:08 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second, I've got two more calls that I've got to get to Because the last one's the craziest Corey, are you there?

01:52:14 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

01:52:14 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 6:

Corey, what did you have in your office?

01:52:16 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 4:

I had to call you guys on this We have one, he was called the side shooter The side shooters come in with some explosive poop And always shoot off to the side In the upper part of the room

01:52:29 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 6:

I always wondered if those are just really fast Like if they go in and go

01:52:33 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 4:

It would like stick right to it The toilet couldn't even flush it down What was the other one? The hoverer We called him the hoverer Because he must have hovered above the toilet sleeve Because he must have come in with explosive diarrhea He'd come in and find poop freckles all over the room Yeah

01:52:50 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we had the poop freckles in our office once, too, and I'm like, you know how hard you have to try to poop on the wall? That's like two, three feet away from the toilet seat. What do your pants and legs look like?

01:53:05 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 6:

Listen to this one, though. John, what happened to you at your office, Urinal?

01:53:10 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't at an office. I was probably at a bar. I was in my 20s. I didn't realize until like maybe a couple days later Or something like that I got crabs from the urinal No

01:53:24 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 1:

I thought that was an urban legend

01:53:26 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I was not with anybody I know that And those buggers were itchy And it was a pain in the ass

01:53:35 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 4:

Are you serious that it can happen?

01:53:39 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 5:

Seriously So I have reservations on standing too close To not get to my urinal My brother-in-law said that he knows somebody or it happened to him as well. So he always goes in the stalls.

01:53:51 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 7:

I'm with Shannon. I've always heard that story, and I always thought that is not a good match between organism and environment. If you're blaming the urinal for crabs, I feel like maybe that sounds more like an excuse. I don't know how long they can live.

01:54:04 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 6:

Tony, our boss, that's the excuse of the peepa trader is the peepa trader doesn't want to get a disease off of our bathrooms here.

01:54:13 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 7:

By the way, I just changed my AIM screen name to Poop Freckles 269. Either new nor improved, but still better than the rest.

01:54:22 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 6:

Just Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning show. It's good to have you guys listening. Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike. So this is pretty wild. Mom is trying to slut her up. Usually, the parents don't want their kids dressing more slutty, but this mom does.

01:54:49 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, so this is so funny. So, one of my really good girlfriends is a teacher. Excuse me. And we met for dinner the other night. Actually, Mojo, we went to one of your favorite places again at East Square.

01:55:00 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 3:

And shout out to them. I love that place. And so she shows up and she walks in and she sits down and she takes off her coat. And normally she's a very, I would say, conservative dresser. And she would agree with me on that. And what she was wearing was just totally not her, in my opinion. It was like this, I don't know, like see-through, off the shoulder with like rips and holes, like sweater, like shirt thing. I don't even know how to describe it.

01:55:30 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 2:

It was a very sexy thing.

01:55:32 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 3:

It was a really sexy outfit.

01:55:34 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 2:

Was she coming from, you said she's a school teacher? Yeah. Was she coming from school?

01:55:39 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 3:

She was off of school, so I don't know where she was coming from.

01:55:41 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

I would love my teachers to dress like that.

01:55:43 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 3:

But I didn't say anything. And then finally she said, do you like my shirt? And I said, I do. It's just not something that I would think that you would pick out. Like it's not, it doesn't look like you. And she said that her mom got it for her. Her mom lives with her. Her mom's in her late 70s, by the way. I think she's 78, 79. Like, she's pushing 80.

01:56:09 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 2:

Now I get the visuals.

01:56:10 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 3:

And her mom has been buying her clothes because she thinks that she dresses too frumpy. And that's why she's still single.

01:56:18 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Give that little slut a hug. Isn't that great?

01:56:22 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 3:

So she's like, I don't want to disrespect my mom. so I'm wearing all the stuff that she's been buying me. That's wild.

01:56:29 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that so funny? What a funny story. So mom is trying to

01:56:33 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 3:

trying to sex her up a little bit.

01:56:35 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's interesting. Who would have thought mom would be 70 years old and doing this whole thing?

01:56:39 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. So where does

01:56:41 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 2:

a 70-year-old mom go to?

01:56:43 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I didn't ask her where she got it from, but I don't have to ask her right now, but it was so funny. She said every day she's coming home with something for her.

01:56:51 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 2:

Do moms, wait, Are there any listeners, this is a good one, are there any listeners who are single and their mom is trying to get you married off or get you dating, so they're doing things to get you dating?

01:57:06 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 3:

Spruce you up a little bit so that men find you more attractive.

01:57:11 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 4:

Nothing like the ones that are really close to you telling you you look frumpy looking. That's what her mom said. That's what her mom said. She dresses too frumpy.

01:57:20 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 2:

I wonder sometimes if moms are the worst at this.

01:57:24 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 3:

They are. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

01:57:28 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

01:57:35 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 1:

Is it like moms want son-in-law and grandkids and they just want to rush things along?

01:57:41 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

01:57:42 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 2:

Did you like the look that she had? Like does mom has good taste?

01:57:45 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was cute. It just wasn't something that I would ever see her normally wearing.

01:57:50 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's pretty.

01:57:55 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

Like if you came into this studio one morning wearing anything but a black shirt, something's up. I know that you did not buy that shirt.

01:58:02 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 2:

My mom wanted me to slut it up a little bit. She said I was a little too from me. It was like that. Who stole my clothes? What's going on? Hi, Randy. Brandy? Yes, Brandy. I'm sorry.

01:58:15 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 4:

no it's fine um so those 70 year old moms you're talking about you got to remember those are like the woodstock and the 70s moms they grew up then oh i never thought about that their era was to kind of be more wild and free right oh yeah my mom's 65 and she dresses way hoochie wait that's

01:58:37 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 2:

a funny topic to this one whose mom dresses sluttier than them you have to call us up and

01:58:42 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 4:

your mom does yes she shows it off huh that's funny hey and she gets complimented everybody thinks she's my sister wow good for her good for her yes what's up danny hi i have one to

01:58:56 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 5:

kind of go with this my grandma got me lingerie for my bridal shower oh god oh my gosh oh yeah It was totally awkward.

01:59:08 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 2:

Was it nice lingerie or was it like grandma?

01:59:11 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 5:

It actually was. It was really cute. Like, it was a shock.

01:59:17 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 3:

Grandma's got good taste.

01:59:19 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 2:

So do you wear that lingerie and say to your husband, Mom bought this for us or Grandma bought this for us?

01:59:27 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 5:

I think we kind of just kind of forget that who got it. Just enjoy it.

01:59:33 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 2:

I would have a hard time if all of a sudden in the middle of it, then I would go, grandma bought me that, you know, uh, what's going on, Alex?

01:59:41 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. Hello. Yeah. Um, so I just turned 30 last week and, uh, having dinner with my parents and my mom kind of looked up at me and she's like, you just don't take care of your hair anymore. And I was like, Oh, she's like, yeah, you know, you really, I'm going to pay for you to go get your hair dyed.

02:00:00 - 02:00:01 | Speaker 2:

grades are showing.

02:00:02 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 6:

You actually just reminded me my mom and my sisters when I was single they had said to me that I had a mustache. This was years and years ago. You have a mustache and nobody's ever going to want to kiss you. So they actually took me to the salon to get it waxed. Oh, we love them. Yeah, we do.

02:00:21 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 4:

And look what happened. You found a man out of the deal. Does he like your mustache? Do you have to continue

02:00:27 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 6:

to do that? This was like when I was a cop.

02:00:29 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 4:

oh okay what's up jennifer hi how are you guys good what's going on um so my mom is 65 i'm in

02:00:39 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 2:

my 30s i've had to my mom and i swap clothes all the time but i would literally be caught dead if i've seen some of the things that my mom has that she wasn't even swapping with me that i've gone through her closet like leather things like stringy things you know and i've taken them out of her closet because if I saw my mom wearing those in her 60s, I mean...

02:01:04 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

So wait, you confiscate your mom's hot clothes?

02:01:08 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and I confiscate them for myself. But not because she would look bad in them, but because I would literally be caught dead if I saw my mom wearing them. Oh, you'd feel so weird. She'd probably look better in them than me.

02:01:21 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 4:

Jacob, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:01:24 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 5:

Hi, my name's Jacob. My grandma does this to my siblings all the time um she my siblings are in high school and college and i feel like my grandma finds like a new girl for the earth boy for them every week like there's a new person coming in and then she also buys us like presents all the time and their outfits are a little much at times i'm like did grandma really buy that for you does grandma have good taste in the guys that she picks out honestly yeah she's a nice little jewish grandma so she was always finding these little Jewish boys that are actually very, very nice boys, but my siblings never go for them. Wow. That's funny.

02:02:01 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 6:

It's mine. It's Fiddler on the Roof. Hey, could you... Oh, my God.

02:02:04 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 4:

Is that what... Yes. I don't...

02:02:07 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 6:

Fiddler on the Roof is all about the Yenta, the matchmaker, and their little Jewish village trying to set up all the single daughters. Yeah.

02:02:14 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. Exactly.

02:02:17 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. Of course. Have a good one. All right. Take care of yourself.

02:02:21 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:02:28 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

Irina, why do you think your husband's cheating on you?

02:02:30 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 3:

I found this email that he sent flowers to this other girl.

02:02:34 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Really? First off, how did you get access to this email?

02:02:39 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's on his phone, and he doesn't have a password on his phone, so I looked through some of his deleted emails, and I guess he tried to delete it.

02:02:47 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 7:

Was it like an email he wrote to somebody, or...?

02:02:50 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 3:

No, it was like a receipt, like a confirmation receipt. Like, he had sent flowers, and it was, like, the flower, you know, company. Oh, online. Yes. Okay.

02:02:59 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 4:

Who was the other woman that he sent flowers to?

02:03:01 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 3:

Some girl named Catherine.

02:03:03 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 4:

Some girl named Catherine, so you don't know who this girl is? No, I don't. Did it say anything like, you know, his name attached to it, like, in why you sent flowers to her? Or was it just a thank you for sending flowers to?

02:03:18 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 3:

It just said, thank you for ordering the flowers. It has said his name as a sender and her name as a recipient.

02:03:24 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 4:

But nothing in there about what the flowers were sent for?

02:03:28 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 1:

No. That's suspicious enough. I mean, does he send flowers to clients for work on a regular basis?

02:03:34 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 3:

No, not for work.

02:03:36 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay. What we're going to do is we're going to do kind of a war of the roses. We know that he must have sent flowers if they're sending him this. But we're going to call up as that flower company. to see if he'll send another dozen roses and see who he sends them to see if he sends them to that same person again what was that girl's name katherine all right and this is irena this is his wife and we're hoping that we can get an answer for you on on who this person might be

02:04:05 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 7:

hello hi i'm looking for trevor yeah this is him hi trevor how are you doing this morning I'm good. Good. My name's Nicole. I'm calling from ******. You just recently ordered flowers from us. Is that right?

02:04:39 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Uh, yeah. Why?

02:04:43 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Well, we were so appreciative that you ordered flowers from us. And Trevor, we'd like to offer you a dozen complimentary roses to send that's on us. So you won't be paying anything. And so I'm just calling this morning to see if you had anybody in mind that you might want to send flowers to right now. Maybe a ******.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 2:

special occasion coming up or something like that?

02:05:04 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to get charged for this.

02:05:06 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 2:

No, we just saw that you were a first-time customer, so this is basically our way of saying thank you.

02:05:12 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 4:

You don't have my credit card information saved, right? You're not going to charge me again?

02:05:17 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 2:

No, not at all. This is absolutely free.

02:05:20 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 4:

This is totally free.

02:05:21 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:05:23 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right, it's just a promotion because for us.

02:05:27 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 2:

It's just a promotion that we're offering this month to everybody who ordered flowers for the first time from the holiday.

02:05:35 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 4:

All right. As long as I'm not being charged.

02:05:38 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 2:

I promise I'm not going to charge you. Did you have somebody in mind that you'd want to send a dozen red roses to? That's what the floral arrangement is.

02:05:47 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 4:

Irina.

02:05:49 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Irina. Okay. That's a different name than I have on your account from the last bouquet of flowers that you sent. Is that correct, though? I have a Catherine listed on here.

02:06:00 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 4:

A Catherine. Could you go ahead and delete that name right now?

02:06:07 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:06:08 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 4:

Send the flowers to Irina, and could we go ahead and delete that name?

02:06:15 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Delete it from your account altogether?

02:06:17 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 1:

Trevor? Yeah? Irina called us up here on the Mojo on the Morning Show, War of the Roses, to find out why you were sending flowers to another woman.

02:07:13 - 02:07:14 | Unknown:

Um...

02:07:14 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 4:

That ought to be a mistake. I don't know what you're talking about.

02:07:17 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 2:

But you just told me to delete that other person's name.

02:07:22 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I... That shouldn't have been in there. I don't know what that was.

02:07:26 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

But you sent her flowers, and it was on your credit card.

02:07:31 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't know any Catherine, so I don't... It must have been a mistake.

02:07:37 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but when Shannon just mentioned it, you didn't say... I don't know who that is, or... Yeah, what's that charge? Why am I paying for that? You sounded like you knew who she was.

02:07:50 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

Look, I don't... I wasn't expecting a call from... I don't know what the deal was. I just don't want to be charged for anything. If they ask you for free flowers, I'll tell them to my wife.

02:08:01 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 1:

Irina's listening to this right now. And what are you thinking, Irina?

02:08:08 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Who is... Trevor. There is no Catherine. There's no Catherine. I heard you. You said delete her name off the account. She's a woman from work who's had a rough time. I didn't want to tell you about it because I didn't want you to overreact. Just wanted to send her flowers. She had her father passed away. Thought it would be a nice gesture.

02:08:47 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 2:

But why did you just say you didn't know anybody named Catherine then? Why didn't you just come right out and say that to Irina?

02:08:55 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, I just felt on the spot It's weird

02:08:58 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Trevor, you sound like You're lying to us

02:09:03 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 4:

She's nobody That's all I can say Okay That's all I'm going to say

02:09:12 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Irina, hold on I want to hear what you have to say about this

02:09:17 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay Call us 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665 6548. This is Mojo

02:09:26 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 3:

in the morning.

02:09:38 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

Irina, do you believe this?

02:09:41 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

02:09:44 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 1:

Trevor, maybe we should actually get Catherine on with us and or at least on with Irina and have her explain that her family has been going through tough times.

02:09:54 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 4:

All right, yeah.

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 5:

can you go ahead i mean i'll just say what i said can you give us her phone number

02:10:04 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 1:

yeah all right why don't we take your phone take her phone number and we will find out exactly what the deal is okay yeah hey reg yeah what's up buddy what do you want to say about this well i'll tell you what you know

02:10:21 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 4:

it's like as soon as he heard that name instantly he wanted that name taken off the account exactly He did not want that name out there. He wanted that name gone, and then when he asked about that name, well, I don't know that person. I don't know who it is. And then he'd come back with, it's like it took him a while to think about, oh, I'll think up this story. He's got the excuse. Yeah.

02:10:40 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's got the excuse, but it doesn't match his reaction.

02:10:43 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, this guy should go out and buy some tap dancing shoes. He is definitely doing a thing.

02:10:47 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 1:

The thing that's weird, too, is I don't think these people realize when you're cheating like this, if you're cheating, you're throwing stuff on credit cards or you're doing things online like that. there's proof right there it's called paper trail you morons hey what's up hi what's going on is

02:11:01 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

this shara shara what's up hi i just wanted to give some advice for irena yes um you know not to be fooled by this guy i work in an office full of guys i'm the only female and i've been through so many different tragic things in the past two years but they know that i'm with somebody you know and they would never cross the line and buy me flowers so that's very suspicious yeah so you

02:11:24 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 1:

So, and that whole work thing is weird, too, because I agree with you. Maybe, Shannon, you know, something's going on just because we work so closely with each other on the air and talk about each other's personal lives. But somebody in the office here, I don't think I'm sending stuff to it either, so I don't know. So there's no number? The number he gave us for the girl? Yeah. Hmm. Hold on a second. They're on hold right now talking. Let me pick up the phone liners. Trevor are you completely lying to us Because we also got a phone call from somebody Who says they work with you That said that there's nobody in your office That's by the name of Catherine Thought so huh During this entire conversation That we've been having with you Irina, your wife has been listening Trevor, are you still there? Yeah Trevor, Irina called us up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show War of the Roses to find out why you were sending flowers to another woman

02:12:41 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 5:

That has to be a mistake I don't know what you're talking about

02:12:52 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 2:

But you just told me to delete that other person's name

02:12:55 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah That shouldn't have been in there I don't know what that was

02:13:01 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 3:

But you sent her flowers and it was on your credit card

02:13:07 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 5:

I don't I don't know any Catherine So I don't, it must have been a mistake.

02:13:13 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but when Shannon just mentioned it, you didn't say, I don't know who that is. Yeah, what's that charge? Why am I paying for that? You sounded like you knew who she was.

02:13:26 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 5:

Look, I don't, I wasn't expecting a call from . I don't know what the deal was. I just didn't want to be charged for anything. If they asked me for free flowers, I said yes. I'll tell them to my wife.

02:13:35 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

irena is listening to this right now and what are you thinking irena

02:13:41 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 5:

who is trevor there is no katherine there's no katherine

02:13:52 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 6:

i heard you you said delete her name off the account

02:13:56 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 1:

she's a woman from work who's had a rough time that was by the way the quickest turnaround uh the war of the roses uh mojo in the morning here andrea hi hi so he sends flowers to this other girl denies that there's even another girl and then comes back and now she's some woman that

02:14:24 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 6:

works with him what did you want to say um i think he knows this katherine chick but i don't think he's she's in his life anymore i think he might have had an affair with her and now it's over and he's pissed about it that's why he doesn't want her name on the account anymore

02:14:41 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 1:

because she probably lost him so you think it's you think it's not a long-term relationship it's

02:14:46 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 6:

a short-term thing i think so i think because there's so much denial a lot of these guys will just you know come back and say yeah okay I did something but I think there is no Catherine anymore

02:15:00 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 2:

Because she probably left him when she found out he was married.

02:15:02 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, could be. Barbara's mad at us. Why are you mad at us?

02:15:08 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, because first of all, I know you think that all men are liars and cheaters and dogs. And I just don't believe that. To me, he sounded, wait a minute. You know what? Before I start yelling at you guys, I have to say, I do love Mojo in the morning. Thank you. Thank you. My absolutely favorite. And Spike, I love you too. Now, back to what I was saying. Okay. Everybody is not a freaking cheater. Right. You know what I mean? To me, it sounded like he was telling the truth. I wouldn't tell you my personal business. It's enough. He told you everything that he said. And then when his wife got on the phone, then he explained who Catherine was. Now, I wouldn't give you her phone number so you can call her on the radio station and get all her personal business. Her father died.

02:15:50 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 6:

All right.

02:15:52 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 3:

It's just very, it's just very, I mean, you have to think it's kind of funny. You guys are always thinking everybody isn't you. No, but I think that— We definitely give people the benefit of the doubt, Barbara, but I think that when you say that you don't know somebody, which he did at first, and then all of a sudden he was like, well, she is somebody that I work with, and then we find out that there's nobody at his workplace with that name, you have to get a little suspicious, right?

02:16:15 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 7:

And, Barbara, we don't listen to what they say as much as how they say it. Right. And that's where the clues are. When he changes his story and stumbles on it—

02:16:22 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead, Barbara. What else would you like to say?

02:16:24 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay, let me say this much. Yes, he didn't tell the people at flower.com that explained who the girl was. You know what I mean? But then when his wife got on the phone, he said, well, Catherine, it's this girl. Maybe he just don't want to tell her because she's really jealous. It's obviously she couldn't just ask him. They don't have the type of relationship to where she can go and say, hey, I found this on your credit card. Who is this? And then he would tell her, or maybe he wouldn't.

02:16:51 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Barbara, you are a beautiful human being. I love you for the fact that you listen to us, but I think that you are completely gullible.

02:16:58 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 2:

I think you guys need a little bit more church in your life and believe that everybody's right.

02:17:03 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 7:

Well, that I'll agree with.

02:17:06 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, look, like I said before, I love you guys, so keep doing your thing, but just remember what I said. Some people are honest.

02:17:13 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 4:

Barbara, pray for us, okay?

02:17:15 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 2:

I definitely will. I listen to you every day on my way to work, so as long as you're there, I'm safe, so I definitely pray for you.

02:17:22 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, I love you.

02:17:23 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, Barbara.

02:17:23 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 5:

Take care of yourself. Thanks so much.

02:17:25 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Have a great day, you guys.

02:17:26 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 5:

Take care. How well do you know these songs?

02:17:29 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 4:

Three, six, nine.

02:17:30 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 2:

Just gonna stop.

02:17:31 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 4:

Apple, five, and Jamie.

02:17:33 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 5:

And who will win the throwback throwdown? Mojo in the Morning's throwback throwdown. It's tomorrow morning at 8 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the 30.

02:17:44 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, it is time, time to get a qualifier for this incredible opportunity. We've been teasing this all morning, a trip to Hollywood to attend Live with Kelly and Ryan's special live after Oscar show. This trip includes airfare, hotel, VIP seats to the after Oscar show, and so, so much more. I'm looking for Caller 95 with the correct answer to this question. Lots of predictions for who is going to win the Best Actor Oscar at this year's 95th Annual Academy Awards. It's the frontrunner, Austin Butler for Elvis. I need you to name one Elvis Presley song for me. I'm making this so easy.

02:18:26 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh, you are. I love it.

02:18:28 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 3:

And, again, just for qualifying, we're going to hook you up with a $50 cash card. So call her 95 to 844-MOJO-LAG. That's 844-665-6548.

02:18:38 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 7:

And, by the way, how good does Los Angeles sound after the weather we've been having?

02:18:43 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Take me with you. Kylie Jenner said, she and Haley Bieber, We're not throwing shade at Selena Gomez's eyebrows on TikTok, which is the biggest lie. This all started when Kylie posted a screenshot from a FaceTime call with Haley, and they're zooming in on their eyebrows. Well, everybody noticed their mean girl behavior.

02:19:06 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 1:

I do believe Kylie Jenner posted these Instagram stories about Selena Gomez. I think I just got the reason wrong. Somebody just sent me a video, and I completely forgot Selena Gomez said this in her video yesterday, but let me show you.

02:19:20 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 3:

I accidentally laminated my brows too much.

02:19:23 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 1:

Why is it that three hours after Selena Gomez posted those videos on TikTok, would Kylie Jenner post, this was an accident? And ironically, she put the text on her freaking eyebrows. And again, posted a screenshot of her and Hailey Bieber and them just showing their eyebrows. 1,000% I am not reaching, in my opinion. They are shading Selena Gomez, and this is very, very, very childish.

02:19:52 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, Kylie said all of this is reaching. She wrote, oh, hang on one second. Wait, no, no, don't want to hear from you.

02:19:58 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Sorry about that.

02:20:00 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 5:

Kylie wrote, no shade towards Selena ever. I didn't see her eyebrows post. You guys are making something out of nothing. Now, here's the thing. Selena did agree with her writing. It's all unnecessary. I am a fan of Kylie, but come on. They were being mean.

02:20:14 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 4:

Can we break this down even more? Yes. Okay. So Selena Gomez also on her cooking show that she did, remembering COVID, she would have like chefs doing. Yeah, because she can't cook like me. Or me. Yeah. And apparently she says like okie dokie all the time to the point where her friends put a jar out where every time she said it, she had to put money in the jar, kind of like Schmidt on New Girl. Yeah. Well, apparently, Hailey Bieber also made a video, a cooking video, and she put something in the oven and then looked at the camera and went, okie dokie then. Like, the fact that these girls are just harassing Selena Gomez after the fact that when this was first called out, Selena put out a video saying, like, oh, we're fine, stop harassing us, they posed together, and these girls are continuing to do it is the worst case of mean girl syndrome ever. And I am a Kylie Jenner stan, and we need to call out this behavior, okay? This is weird, rude, and y'all are fighting over Justin Bieber. He's not worth it, girls. He's not it.

02:21:10 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 2:

He's not the one to fight over. What a weird person to throw shade at, too, because Selena Gomez is, like, the nicest, greatest human being in the entire world.

02:21:17 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 3:

And she is one of all the pop culture celebrities we talk about in The Dirty on a regular basis. Might she not be the one who talks the most about online bullying and social media and all the things? She left social media for a while because of that.

02:21:29 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 5:

All right. Former President Trump traveled to East Palestine, Ohio, yesterday as Republicans continue to criticize President Biden for not spending any time at the site of that train derailment that was carrying all of those hazardous materials. Former President Trump spoke for about 10 minutes at a local firehouse. It was about a half mile from the derailment site. And after speaking, he went to the local McDonald's where he brought food for the police and fire departments. Ohio Governor DeWine was grilled by the media about this yesterday.

02:22:01 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 6:

I think I've been pretty strong. I said, we're not leaving. We're staying. We have the best experts. We're going to listen to the experts. I think I was pretty clear when I said, pardon me? Would you stay in East Palestine? Would you come and spend the night there?

02:22:20 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 1:

Until the cleanup is done, you'll stay with us?

02:22:23 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 6:

Within the one mile? Yes. Yes, I've been there three times. For a few hours. Will you stay overnight for a period of time?

02:22:33 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Disneyland has installed new warnings on its Guardians of the Galaxy ride as a dangerous new TikTok trend encourages riders to bypass the safety protocols. There are a bunch of TikToks apparently encouraging riders to loosen or improperly secure their seatbelts to increase airtime during the freefall portion of this ride. Disneyland says not only is this unsafe, it violates the park's rules and they will kick you out. So there have been some new signs installed this week that read keep seat belt securely fastened and tight against the waist.

02:23:07 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 3:

And also don't make things that you saw on TikTok to try and put little kids on big rides.

02:23:13 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 5:

Paris Hilton revealing her baby boy's name on this week's episode of her This Is Paris podcast.

02:23:19 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 1:

Over a decade ago, I thought of this amazing name. I really believe that names have power. and we wanted a name for our baby boy that was uniquely remarkable. So his name is Phoenix Baron Hilton Ream. His middle name is Baron, after my grandfather Baron Hilton.

02:23:38 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 5:

That was the name I was going to choose. That was actually on our list. All five names? Phoenix, no. And lastly, Lawn Starter recently released the most and least glamorous cities in the U.S., New York City coming in at the top as the most glamorous city and West Valley, Utah coming in as the least glamorous. Now, this list was based on the 200 most popular cities in the United States, according to six categories, status and wealth, clubs, fine dining, beauty, fashion, and entertainment. And I'm bringing this up because a city in our listening area made the list of least glamorous cities coming in at 199 out of 200 warren michigan

02:24:27 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

oh no least glamorous cities list almost last out of 200 yeah come on i know have they considered

02:24:36 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 5:

the warren community center indoor water park i thought you were gonna trash another city I'm like, don't do it.

02:24:42 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. I'm not going to say who's worse, but, jeez, that's rough. Nationwide.

02:24:47 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if Mayor Fouts will make a comment on this.

02:24:49 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I would imagine. He always seems to put his foot in there.

02:24:53 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, we need to qualify somebody for this trip to Hollywood.

02:24:58 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Hopefully we get this question right.

02:25:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 2:

time. Let's see. Marky. Hi. Hi, good morning, Marky. You got to answer the question correctly, okay? Okay, here we go. Lots of predictions for who is going to win the best actor Oscar at this year's 95th annual Academy Awards. The frontrunner, Austin Butler for Elvis. Name one Elvis Presley song. Can't Help Falling in Love. You got it, girl. Yes. I made it easy. So congratulations just for qualifying. We're hooking you up with a $50 cash card. Plus, you're entered for a chance to win that trip to Hollywood and two VIP seats at the Live After Oscar show. It is going to be so much fun. And don't miss a special Live with Kelly and Ryan Live After Oscar show Monday, March 13th at 9 a.m. on WXYZ Channel 7. Congratulations. And we'll have another chance to qualify. And we will draw our grand prize winner tomorrow morning in the 930 Dirty.

02:26:05 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 5:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:26:11 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 1:

Time now for a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. And this phone scam is prime example as to if you give us enough information, we can really have some fun with someone. So go to our website, MojoInTheMorning.com, click the menu bar up at the top of the page, and it will bring down phone scam submissions, and then just fill out all the information. This is somebody that did it. Christy says that her husband is like a little crazy about this house stuff that they've been trying to do. They've been thinking about doing some work on their house. They actually went out of town, and the guy who is supposed to be doing an estimate on their house is going to give them the estimate while they're away, But mom is staying at the house. So her mom, Christy's mom, his mother-in-law, is staying there. She wants us to call him up and make him really nervous about this estimate that is getting done. Spike's going to take it, like, one step further. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:27:10 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 3:

02:29:33 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 3:

And my thing is I'm going to make sure we get this taken care of because tomorrow morning the other construction guys are coming to start the garage portion. You're f***ing me right now. You guys are f***ing me. I can't. I'm so sorry. And this is my fault. But I can't hear you over all the loud construction noise. Did you say? Stop all construction. Stop all construction. Okay, sir, I hear you yelling. Are you talking to me or someone else that's over there with you?

02:31:33 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 6:
