good morning good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show without sounding like a name dropper i hung out with spike shannon megan mike lydia kp all the significant others this weekend had fun on saturday night you probably saw the pictures Up on our social media

00:04:17 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 2:

What a great dinner party

00:04:19 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

It was so fun Was that a dinner party or like a wedding I thought that was like First off, I flew back into town So I was away all last week We took our midwinter break And went down and visited our son Joe Down in Florida And flew back into town Made it all the way over To this really cool restaurant I've never been and the food was great Lesage, that was great So, go to walk in. I can hear the music just plairing out. Like, I could hear it on Crooks and Big Beaver, and the place was, like, further down the road. You walked in right as they transitioned.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

from dinner to DJ dancing music, and I think it looked like the DJ knew you were walking in, almost like he was going to present you through the double doors with the loud music.

00:05:09 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

I thought first off that I was hanging out at Shenandoah, and there was a wedding that was going on because it was the same DJ that I probably have seen about 12 different weddings that was DJing Lydia's grad party, and congratulations to Lydia. Lydia graduated from Wayne State and if those people are wondering why are you guys going to a grad party in February? She graduated what, December, right

00:05:38 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

Lydia? Yeah, I did. I just didn't have enough time to coordinate it.

00:05:43 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

I love that. And you know what? The people who graduate mid-year do the graduation mid-year, they always get screwed out of everything.

00:05:52 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you got the holidays. I mean, Lydia was coordinating our whole break and entering Christmas wishes. It was nice to have something to look forward to

00:05:58 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 2:

in february and the amazing uh the amazing thing was that you actually had to do finals and you had to you know uh go through graduation everything while you're getting calls from families and getting calls from us and you know it was it was pretty amazing that uh you accomplished the goal a first off you graduated so congratulations to you on that that's huge but also that you graduated with every single ball in the air doing that um and congratulations on your marriage because

00:06:28 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

people who weren't listening to the show and didn't know about the party saw the social media and you had a white dress on so they all thought you were getting married the nicest grad party i've ever been to in my entire life ever oh my gosh i'm so happy you all had a good time i was a little worried oh really why were you worried it was so fun well beforehand i'm like you know

00:06:46 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 4:

i don't know if this stuff is going to be way too much for everyone who isn't chaldean but i'm so

00:06:50 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

happy you all enjoyed yourselves oh my god it was the best i'm going to say to you that if any of you guys have not been to a chaldean wedding we need we need to get lydia married because lydia chaldean weddings are the greatest they're they're not they're like maybe one step below the royal weddings you know one step below prince harry getting married to megan markle because they're so and i only say that because obviously the royals probably throw a uh you know days worth of parties but the chaldeans know how to throw like one huge party um your parents were amazing your family was great grandma that was grand what do you call a grandma um so that was

00:07:31 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

actually my aunt she's my sister that was your aunt i kept calling her grandma okay well they

00:07:36 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 2:

were calling her um two was as i'm two yeah that's what it is you're calling her um two and i thought that that was grandma so i kept going i kept going hi grandma and she kept she couldn't hear The music was so low, uh, Flo Rida low was jamming. So apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur and grandma sitting in the chair. And she was, uh, she was in there like, she couldn't understand what I was saying. I couldn't understand what I was saying.

00:07:59 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 4:

She also doesn't speak that much of English.

00:08:01 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

I kind of, honestly, I kind of figured that I kind of, uh, uh, figured that she had no idea what the heck I was talking about. So we just kept nodding at each other.

00:08:13 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

We're just like smiling and nodding. But the best is Lydia's mom knows the word to every rap song that was playing at the end of the day.

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, she does, and some of the dances. Like, she can move, Lydia.

00:08:23 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 2:

And your dad, George, by the way, first off, this is the man who you can tell, this guy is like, he's a worker, man. He just, that guy's got, first off, I have no idea what he does for a living. He probably has, like, 12 different jobs and, you know, things that he does. I know he works with cars, right? He works on car.

00:08:39 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's an electrical engineer on cars.

00:08:41 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And he was smiling from air to air. He was so proud of you. Can I ask you a question? Yeah. Are you the first in your family to graduate from college?

00:08:55 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So my grandparents didn't go to college. My parents didn't go to college. And then neither of my siblings did.

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Give it up. Give it up for her.

00:09:01 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

That's a good question. I can tell they were just, they were so incredibly proud of you. Every single person there.

00:09:09 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And now your dad's got to be happy that you work in radio. All that for this. Right. But you're happy. Actually, your mom could not be more proud of you but also could not be more happy that you are doing what you want to do. So that, I think, is pretty cool. It was fun.

00:09:31 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Where did you girls go after the party? Because we all decided we were going to all go drink in the morning show and have some fun afterwards. and then when I went to tell KP where we were going she said she like nodded to Lydia and her girlfriends and said yeah thanks but I'd rather hang out with people my own age an absolute gem an absolute gem I was like ouch but also fair but ouch and then

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 4:

And I forget at one point.

00:10:02 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, where did you guys? You guys did go somewhere.

00:10:04 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

So we went to a new Chaldean-owned restaurant. It's called Buma.

00:10:07 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it looks fine. It looked really fine. It was so fun. How was that, KP? Did you have a good time?

00:10:12 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it was great. Although I did hang out with Lydia's mom, so there were some older people there.

00:10:19 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, did your mom make it out there? You guys could have came.

00:10:22 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, my mom and my aunt came.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's funny. Did Oma come too?

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 5:

No, I think she was too tired.

00:10:30 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

By the way, if Alma made it and Spike, you and I and Mike and Shannon, we didn't get invited.

00:10:35 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

Meg sent me a video on Instagram of where they were at. It was empty at this bar that they were at the hotel. And there's just Spike walking from the bar alone back to Meg. And I'm like, I'm so glad I went with Lydia.

00:10:48 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, we were looking for a party.

00:10:50 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 5:

What are you talking about?

00:10:50 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

We all wanted to be able to hear each other talk. We didn't want to go to another loud DJ place. But then as we were sitting there talking for a little while, at one point, the girls were all talking about bra straps or something. And my girlfriend leaned over to me. She goes, yeah, KP was right. She made the right call.

00:11:06 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

She was part of that conversation as well.

00:11:08 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:11:09 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, I gave her a compliment. That's why she's on my side.

00:11:15 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so did you secretly invite her without Spike to come out?

00:11:18 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I said, Meg, you can come because you're not old. Yes.

00:11:21 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, that is true.

00:11:21 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 4:

She's straddling the line between both groups. That is true.

00:11:24 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Is that difficult for you, by the way, that you have to go out with people different ages?

00:11:28 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 4:

No, I tell her go out without me. I'm like, go ahead. You girls go out and have fun. You're the greatest boyfriend ever. Yeah. I'm like, I'll wait up. Call me if you need a ride home.

00:11:38 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

Actually, I will say this, that it was fun to go to a hotel bar, KP, and we did it because we had Mike's wife, who's pregnant. We're going to blame it on the pregnant lady.

00:11:49 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 6:

Also, we called around to a couple of places, and they were like, yeah, we don't have room for all of you guys. So that was, like, the only place that we could think of.

00:11:57 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 3:

We would have gone somewhere cool if we could actually get into cool places. We should have just stayed at the same place we were just at. We should have said to the DJ, could you, like, play for a few more minutes? We'll give you a little extra money to play for something. But it was fun. It was good. First off, it was fun to celebrate. you know the the occasion and that is such a cool thing that you're the first grad in your entire family and what an awesome thing I remember when Joey graduated because my son Joe graduated from college we celebrated it that way because that was the first person to graduate from college in our family yeah in our immediate family so that was like it's an awesome responsibility you know that as the eldest to do that or the smartest one in the family it's also so cool like we never get

00:12:44 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 6:

to hang out all of us all together it is such a rare occasion when that happens and so it's always just i don't like it you don't i don't want to hang out okay well i didn't think you were coming

00:12:55 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 2:

honestly we all got there we sat down and somebody said yeah mojo's gotta stop and get doored at or stop and get mcdonald's or something then he'll be here and i'm like oh he ain't coming oh you're

00:13:05 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

talking about the after party i didn't know you guys were going anywhere so everybody was talking about something and then nobody was making up their mind so i said i'm leaving i'm going home i got to my exit off of 75 so i literally get to the exit and spike goes hey we're going and i'm like i was like literally so i called luke up and i said luke you know what why don't you door dash it and i'm gonna go back around i literally had to drive 25 minutes all the way around i would

00:13:30 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 4:

have let you off the hook i put we're pulling out and i said did anyone text mojo and tell him where we were going so i text mojo and he's like oh crap i just got on the highway honestly honestly i had

00:13:40 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm not kidding you when I say this, too. I almost went and tried to crash the young kids party. First of all, by the way, you guys got to stop on your group text pictures and stuff that you guys were going nuts with this weekend. I'm going to sound like Megan here right now. But KP and Lydia were sending more group texts. Am I wrong on this one, guys? Or am I right on this one? You're not wrong.

00:14:01 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 5:

I sent two videos of the spider in my bed that I came home to.

00:14:04 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 3:

For God's sakes.

00:14:06 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, is that what it was? I thought it was pubes.

00:14:09 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 6:

I honest to God couldn't see see I'm part of the old crew wait explain that

00:14:13 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 3:

explain where was this at again

00:14:15 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

I thought you were I thought you hooked up with somebody and were vacuuming pubes out of your bed no that's a great story I swear to God that's what I thought

00:14:23 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 4:

Shannon put your readers on to look at the group text

00:14:26 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 5:

literally a spider I just saw the video

00:14:29 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 6:

I didn't see any of the comments

00:14:30 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

has that ever happened to anybody that they hooked up with somebody and they had pubes in your bed

00:14:34 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 6:

that's why I thought of it yes

00:14:36 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 3:

oh my god I didn't I'm so sorry Shannon

00:14:39 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 6:

Remember the guy in Atlanta who looked like Bruno Mars? Him.

00:14:42 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

He had pubes all over the place? Sorry for another day. So down low, look just like up top. Story for another day. No.

00:14:51 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 4:

She took home more than the centerpiece. Oh, my God. We got to talk about that.

00:14:55 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 3:

So Shannon, and we may not have enough time to talk about this. We may have to bring this up later, but Shannon. is notorious for when she goes to parties, you like to take home a little party favor. I do. I always

00:15:06 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 2:

take home the centerpieces. And in my defense, Lydia's mom said everybody can take home a centerpiece. Well, nobody ever does. Even at your party, Mojo, you're

00:15:16 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 3:

my not Hall of Fame party. You're not

00:15:18 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 2:

Hall of Fame party. I took home a centerpiece. They're just going to go in the garbage. So why not recycle them and bring them home and enjoy them for a couple more days? Actually, it was

00:15:28 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was roasting me. Well, it's funny. They were roasting you. Well, because sometimes you don't ask. This time Lydia's mom said to take them home. Sometimes you just take them home. I just know they are always going to get thrown away.

00:15:39 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 2:

I'll return the vase if needed.

00:15:42 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, the funny thing is I don't think people were roasting you so much for taking it because you're now known for that. That you like to take it because you've talked before about how you'll grab things and take it home. Just as, you know, even a joke. Like staying in hotels, you know, when we've gone on like our boot camps trips and stuff like that. Oh, yeah. Yep. Randomly, Shannon's got the Hilton logo in her house. But people were roasting you for wearing jeans to the party. And I have to be perfectly honest with you. I wore jeans, too, because I didn't know how dressy the party was. Me neither. And it was a pretty dressy party.

00:16:10 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 2:

I was wearing jeans and a sweater blazer. And then I showed up. And there were a lot of people wearing jeans, to be fair. But then I saw the setup. And I saw Lydia. And I'm like, oh, my God. There was no dress code on the invitation. I felt so severely underdressed. But you had a jacket. I know. But then you walked in. And I was like, OK, I'm safe. But apparently, I didn't go on Facebook to read comments. I did on Instagram. But apparently, I was getting roasted for that, too. I'm like, Mojo was wearing jeans, too.

00:16:34 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 3:

I actually almost showed up with my airplane attire. You guys have airplane attire? Oh, yes. So I was wearing a pair of sweatpants. Workout stuff, yeah. I was wearing a pair of sweatpants and a sweatshirt and stuff like that. So I raced. So Luke and I brought golf clubs to Florida. So we had to go to the dumbest airport ever. Every other airport, they pull out your golf clubs and put it on a conveyor belt. We built a brand-new, beautiful airport, and you have to go through a bulk area, and it takes forever to get. So it took like 45 minutes to get it. So that's why I was as late as I was because then I had to get Luke home, drive him home, drop him off, then go change into my not-so-dressy outfit that I was wearing there out of that thing, and then come all the way over to go to Troy. I almost went to the wrong place, too. I put it in Waze, and I started driving because there was two Lesages. There's one in Sterling Heights.

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 2:

There's one on the east side, yeah.

00:17:28 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then there's one in Troy. So it was fun. We had a good time. You can see the pictures that were posted. And if you'd like to look at our 8,000 text messages from KP and Lydia back and forth. I'm just giving you a little crap.

00:17:46 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 2:

And the pubes in the van, wasn't it?

00:17:48 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 3:

The pubes. It was so funny.

00:17:50 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 2:

Ha, baby, ha, baby.

00:17:51 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 3:

Is there a song about pubes? Did you think because she was hanging out with a bunch of Chaldean guys that she ended up hooking up with?

00:17:57 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, wow, KP met somebody. It was a giant wolf spider that I vacuumed up terrifyingly at 3.30 in the morning, and I had to share with you guys.

00:18:07 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 3:

A.K.A. pubes. This mojo in the morning is back in the day. Let's go. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen? All right. What would you be more scared of? Pubes in the bed or a spider that looks like that thing?

00:18:20 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 2:

Pubes in the bed for sure.

00:18:22 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 3:

The spider would be nothing. All right, all three of these things happen in the same year. If you know it, we'll set you up with the prize. We've got a pair of tickets to go to, I don't know, something. I can't even read that far. This was the year that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber debuted their relationship.

00:18:38 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 1:

The ongoing questions about whether or not Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are or aren't dating can finally come to a close. because the beautiful pair hit one of the entertainment world's hottest annual Oscar party red carpets together.

00:18:52 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 3:

Christine Aguilera botched the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

00:18:56 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 2:

What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming.

00:19:02 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 3:

She got it together after that. And big song. I'm like, wait a second. Remix. And this song from Pitbull, Neo. And do I have to do all of the artists on this? Otherwise, I don't get a point. for the Throwback Throwdown. What year was this? You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened. It was the year that Justin and Selena came clean with their relationship.

00:19:40 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 1:

The ongoing questions about whether or not Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are or aren't dating can finally come to a close because the beautiful pair hit one of the entertainment world's hottest annual Oscar party red carpets together. Christina Aguilera, who actually is in this

00:19:56 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 3:

dirty report here in just a second, kind of had. Is it an issue remembering some of the words to the national anthem?

00:20:03 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 1:

What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming?

00:20:13 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 3:

And the big song, the little party anthem from Pitbull. Mo, what year was that? It was 2011. Yes, it was.

00:20:28 - 00:20:28 | Unknown:

Yay!

00:20:29 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 5:

Yippee!

00:20:30 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations, your winner.

00:20:32 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much, and I just want to let you guys know I love you guys. I listen every morning for the past 11 years. Oh, my gosh. We love you, too.

00:20:40 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea what that is, but is that like what, a little competition for the WWE or something, AEW, All Elite Wrestling?

00:21:05 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 5:

I'm not sure, but my buddy loves wrestling, so he will love to go with me.

00:21:10 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 3:

Is this a romantic buddy, or is this just a buddy buddy?

00:21:12 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, no, no, not at all.

00:21:14 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 3:

Just a buddy.

00:21:15 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just a friend.

00:21:17 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for listening. We appreciate you so much. Hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll set you up. Okay, Mo?

00:21:21 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 5:

All right. Thank you.

00:21:23 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 3:

Taylor tickets. Taylor Swift tickets. I was just talking to EJ last night. I didn't realize Taylor's kicking off her tour in Glendale, Arizona in like a couple weeks. Yeah. St. Patrick's Day, I think, weekend.

00:21:37 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:21:38 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 3:

So we're giving away tickets to the June tour in Detroit at Ford Field. Text HERO to 95500, and you have a chance to win. That's HERO. It's getting closer. Alright, Shannon's got the Dirty on the 30. What you got trending this hour, Shannon?

00:22:05 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, Pink is opening up a little bit more about why she had such a bad taste in her mouth about Christina Aguilera during the Lady Marmalade shoot. She was on Chris Wallace's CNN show. Who's talking?

00:22:17 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 3:

at one point christina wanted to by the way when you said that i thought who's talking i'm like nobody's talking i don't hear anything that's the name of the show all right oh go ahead one more

00:22:29 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 2:

time go ahead chris wallace at one point christina wanted to have a fight with you as to who was going to sing which part of the song if that had happened you would have kicked her ass not well

00:22:39 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 1:

maybe she was upset that i was sitting in her chair and so was going to shut down the entire production and i didn't know i was sitting in her chair i was homeless at 15 like i'm you can't talk to me any kind of way and so i you know you picked the wrong one but that's over yeah she said

00:22:57 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 4:

it didn't actually get physical right then and there but she related to christina at the time like don't be disrespectful to me like that you can't talk to me like that some people don't get

00:23:08 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 1:

along and then they figure it out and they realize what's important and they hug it out and they move on. Not everybody is supposed to like each other, and that's okay. And back then, our personalities did not mix at all. And then we hugged it out, kissed it out, and we have many times since. There you go. Are any of you guys watching the show The Last of Us

00:23:26 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

on HBO? No, but everybody keeps telling me I need to. It's on my list, yeah. Okay, so this show is getting huge, huge ratings right now, but not why it's on the dirty this morning. So The Last of Us is now getting praise from menstrual cup companies for promoting the product and boosting sales big time no spoiler alert needed here but in last week's episode the main character ellie is gifted a menstrual cup and while this scene was really quick there wasn't much to it fans were so excited to see it and a rep for the flex company which makes menstrual cups said they saw a 400 increase in sales in the two days after the episode aired on HBO. Isn't that crazy? A Florida judge issued an arrest warrant for Kodak Black after he failed a court-ordered drug test while awaiting his narcotics trafficking trials. Never good. Tested positive for fentanyl in early February. And a judge is now saying the rapper violated the terms of his pre-trial release and issued this arrest warrant. He's been accused of drug trafficking, if you weren't aware, after he was pulled over by Florida cops. They searched his car. They found a bag with some pills, later confirmed to be oxycodone as well as near nearly I think like $75,000 in cash that happened over the summer. So he had pleaded not guilty to the trafficking charge was released on bail with the condition that he remain drug free and regularly submit to drug testing. And obviously he failed on that last portion. And Cardi B said performing community service is the best thing to happen to her and has changed her perspective on life.

00:25:00 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 3:

Last week, she started her 15 days of community service, decked out in designer clothing and bags, if you missed us talking about that story last week. But that was the result of a plea deal following her role in that strip club fight a couple of years ago. Cardi said it's been a spiritual journey, and she sometimes leaves the centers that she's volunteering at in tears because she's just so grateful for what she has. Most recently, I know I saw she was working with veterans, but still doing some more community service this week. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

Noodelson calling from eBay, an online auction.

00:26:29 - 00:26:30 | Speaker 4:

Uh-huh.

00:26:30 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 2:

Is this Tina with the username of RedWing... Is that you?

00:26:36 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:26:37 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 2:

Calling you about a recent purchase that you completed on an auction, you purchased some red and white Tupperware.

00:26:47 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 4:

Uh-huh.

00:26:48 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 2:

You're aware it's used Tupperware, right?

00:26:50 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:26:51 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 2:

You haven't used them, have you?

00:26:54 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:26:55 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 2:

You've handled them at all?

00:26:58 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I took them out of the box to wash them.

00:27:00 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jumping Josephina Mary Anuhudini. Here's the problem. The guy that sold you those, he's a physicist at the University of Portland. This Tupperware was used with a substance called plectin. It's a highly radioactive material. And this guy would use this Tupperware in his lab.

00:27:21 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 4:

I don't understand.

00:27:22 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's highly radioactive material called plectin. This guy used to store and mix using that Tupperware. And then he went and put all this stuff on eBay. And like I said, there's about 26 different auctions. We're left to notify the purchasers now because this is just really dangerous. The fact that you touch this kind of makes me a little bit nervous. We're going to get you in to get checked out by your doctor.

00:27:47 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, I did wash them.

00:27:50 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 2:

Ma'am, I don't think you understand. You got a f***ing atomic bomb in your house right now. We got to send a hazmat team out there to collect on this. Where are they right now?

00:28:01 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 4:

They're in the kitchen.

00:28:03 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 2:

And are you in the kitchen?

00:28:04 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:28:05 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, c***. Okay. Listen, are you on a cordless phone?

00:28:10 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:28:10 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Step out of that room, please. Quickly.

00:28:15 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:28:16 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 2:

Do you have plastic gloves?

00:28:19 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 4:

They're in the kitchen.

00:28:21 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 2:

I want you to go back into the kitchen and get the plastic gloves and put them on. But before you do, I want you to take a deep breath and don't breathe while you're in the kitchen.

00:28:35 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 4:

What could this do to me?

00:28:37 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, ma'am, I'm just from eBay. I don't have all the answers for you. I'm sure the federal agencies will be in contact with you about this material. But all I know is they told me it's dangerous, get it out of the house, and I'm supposed to notify everybody who was a part of these auctions. So I just need you to take a deep breath and go in and get those gloves and then come back out of the room.

00:28:58 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, I'm going to have to put the phone down.

00:29:00 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:29:04 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:29:05 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you have the gloves?

00:29:06 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 4:

Uh-huh.

00:29:07 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 2:

You have a plastic trash bag? I should have told you to get that, too. Go back in, hold your breath, go in and get a plastic trash bag, too.

00:29:16 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:29:17 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

okay okay do you have the plastic bag yeah okay now i'm gonna need you to put the gloves on and you're gonna go in now and be careful don't breathe while you're doing this plectin can be airborne and that's dangerous stuff you can stay on the phone with me i need you to go in hold your breath put the tupperware in the plastic bag and then seal it shut okay okay well i'm gonna put the phone down okay well you could carry the phone and then once you have the bag sealed then you can talk to me well then i'll be breathing well take the bag outside then don't take a breath till then okay

00:30:00 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:30:01 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm just going to put the phone down and go in and twist the bag and take it out, and then I'll pick up the phone and tell you I did it.

00:30:06 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

00:30:06 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay.

00:30:14 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 6:

Okay. I'm going to have, we provided all your information to the agency that handles this kind of substance, and they're going to be in touch with you directly. They're going to come take care of it. Do you have a shovel so you can dig a hole?

00:30:27 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 3:

No. No, I don't. and I live in an apartment complex. What do you want me to do, Barry, the Tupperware?

00:30:34 - 00:30:45 | Speaker 6:

You know, we were all talking here. We all agree, and I think your husband does, and everybody at Mojo in the Morning all think that nobody in their right mind should be using used Tupperware that they bought on eBay.

00:30:45 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:32:20 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 4:

I work for the virtual program, so we're kind of just tucked in the back.

00:32:25 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I, for some reason, you always knew Miss Moran was our secretary at school. Don't you? Oh, yes. And then Miss Kitty was the kids. I remember her. She was always. Because you had to talk to them all the time because they were the ones that truly could get you out of trouble. The secretaries at school. All right. I'm locking up Holly in a soundproof area. 00:34:11 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 1:

You got it. Yes. You are so good. Wowee. Man, oh, man. Those are good questions today. How is it that Jay-Z would have to go up against Lil Wayne? Is Lil Wayne? Well, he was a monster from 2008 to, like, 2011. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know, though. Don't you think that there's others that?

00:36:24 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 2:

00:36:31 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:36:31 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Or you can call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. So I was away last week. I took the midwinter break, which I love that break and I'm realizing that next year that break is done for me because Luke is graduating from high school and he goes to a Catholic school. All the Catholic schools, they always give you that President's Week off. I love it because guess what we went down to florida and it's not as crowded and crazy as it is if you go during the holidays or summertime because not every state has that break off it it matter of fact i don't think they even do that right in uh in ohio um the that president's long week um so everybody i was running into was michigan uh yes megan what did they have that at all no i just said no i don't No, I think they give you some schools do the the will give you a Monday and Tuesday off or Monday and Friday off. Honestly, the great thing is getting that whole week off. I love paying for my kids to go to school and to have time off. Yes, I want them to have time.

00:39:28 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

So they can have a holiday break, midwinter break and then spring break like three weeks later. Give me them all. I don't care.

00:39:33 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

I used to bother me all the time when we first put the kids in Catholic school. I used to sit there and I was like my dad. I would get so grumpy and I'd be like. off again and every time that there was a snow day and all that stuff i'm like come on i mean my kids are in public school and they got the whole week they got the whole week off too when are you learning yeah i know but now i don't even care i don't even care if they learn or not but um so we're down in florida and i gotta tell you guys a funny story so um

00:40:00 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Luke, Chelsea, and I, every single night, we would go to bed at a fairly late hour. Like, we had, like, really a lot of fun. Like, I didn't really see Joe as much as I had liked for him to, you know, to be seen. But we stayed, like, 35 minutes away from where he lives. So we kind of, like, we were more so in Clearwater, and he is more in downtown Tampa. Like, that's kind of where he lives. So at night, we would say goodnight, and then we would all go to bed. Well, our 17-year-old son one night decided that he was going to sneak out to hang with his new friends that he had met. Oh, really? Yeah. So this is actually kind of a funny story. And I told him I would not call him because he says to me, he goes, you can talk about it because I had to ask for permission to talk about it. You can talk about it, but do not call me. Or he said, you can talk about it, but do not call me.

00:41:00 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 3:

He didn't want to be woken up or he didn't want to defend himself?

00:41:02 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 2:

No, because he didn't want, he feels embarrassed because then he goes to school and the kids say something to him. Okay. So he ended up hanging out with his buddy Nico was there from school. So, and then Nico, there was a girl that was there, really cute girl. Oh my gosh, this girl was from Rochester. She was gorgeous.

00:41:18 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 3:

You didn't have to tell me that because if he's sneaking out, I know there's a girl involved.

00:41:21 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, so he sneaks out of the place, and this is the funniest thing. He sneaks out while Chelsea and I are sleeping, and I just assume, you know, I turn my phone off, like not off completely, but turn the volume off and have it, you know, because the only person I'm fully responsible for anymore is him, right? You know, the other two, they're on their own. I'll wait until the morning. I want to get a good night's sleep.

00:41:48 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 3:

Right. So as far as you're concerned, he's asleep in the bed next door. Yes. So you don't have to worry about him.

00:41:54 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

So he leaves and this is where it gets a little sketchy. And if you've ever snuck out of the house at night only to get yourself into trouble, I want you to call up and I want you to share with us the story. You can call us up here at the station or text us and we'll get you on. And so he leaves, goes out, has his fun, you know, with his friends until like two o'clock in the morning or one thirty in the morning, comes back, tries to open up the door and he can't get it open because I did the emergency lock thing that automatically locks unless you unlock it. So no key is going to get you into it to get into the to the room. So he was calling our phone, and he didn't want to pound on the door because he didn't want anybody else to hear him, like people, you know, to hear him in other places. Right. So he kept calling our phone, calling our phone, calling our phone. I'm asked to have woke up to like five or six missed calls. Chelsea had like 10 or 20 of them. Who knows? so he ends up sleeping on the the the front doormat of the of the room so he ended up having to sleep overnight out there and the only way that i knew that luke was was gone was i could see my phone lighting up you know it wasn't vibrating because i turned all that off right and i see my phone lighting up and i go oh my god and luke's ringtone is anaconda from uh

00:43:22 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 1:

Of course it is, of course it is. From Nicki Minaj?

00:43:24 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Are there people down the hall hearing anaconda play?

00:43:27 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't on, but what happened was I turned it on, then Chelsea quickly wakes up and goes, is Luke okay? Because she knows that anaconda, his wake-up tone, my anaconda don't, and I go, Luke? And I thought he was in the toilet and he didn't have toilet paper. You ever had that happen to you? Like you're staying in a hotel or whatever and you run out of toilet paper? And I go, what's going on? And he's like, I'm outside.

00:43:50 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 1:

That's how he sounds, by the way, if you haven't heard Luke in a while.

00:43:52 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 2:

And so he was outside. And he felt bad. Like, he felt really bad. But that was at almost 6 o'clock in the morning. It was like 545. Oh, man. So he slept outside. And he comes into the room. And he's got on his face, like, the imprint of the floor mat that was in front of the room. Do you guys remember, when you were kids, did you guys ever sneak out of the house?

00:44:16 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I was way too scared, too.

00:44:18 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

Really? You never did that?

00:44:19 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 1:

I really never. I mean, my sister did enough of it for all three of us girls.

00:44:24 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

Mike, I did too. I would sneak out. Where would you sneak out of?

00:44:28 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

I had a bedroom in the basement, and it had a window, like one of those egress windows or whatever they're called that I could just get right out. Is that what it's called? I don't even know. Egress. Egress. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Egress. Egress, like digital grass.

00:44:39 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 2:

That's what we did too. And it was hard for me to do it because it's hard to get in and out of that window, and then you've got to climb up that metal thing that was right there by the egress stuff. Did you ever get busted? Never got busted. Honestly, I could have walked out our front door and my dad would never. My dad was such a sound sleeper.

00:44:58 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got busted because my window.

00:45:00 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 6:

window looked out onto the the roof next to us so i would climb out of my second floor window and then down the roof shimmy down the the fire pot the wood the wood pile where the firewood was and then roam around the neighborhood all night well nosy-ass neighbor mrs gallagher lived behind us she told my parents one night i saw your son there sneaking out the window at one o'clock in the morning and so my mom you know grounded me for sneaking around that's who usually what's going on sam how you doing good how are you guys good morning good morning did you ever

00:45:43 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 5:

get caught sneaking out of the house yes ironically it was the same situation i was in the egress window and my parents i was in high school at the time so my parents would read my instagram dms and they caught me sneaking out as soon as i stepped foot out the door oh yeah yeah social media well

00:46:00 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 6:

people forget you can't be posting that stuff yep nowadays you gotta be careful these ring cams and

00:46:06 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 1:

nest cams they screw everybody up from doing this what's up casey how you doing hi how you doing good what's going on were you a person that snuck out when you were a teen

00:46:15 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 4:

yes so unfortunately being the delinquent that i used to be i was sneaking out a ton and so my dad decided to invest to put a security system on the house where you open up the door and it'll ding everywhere i found a way i found a way around it and i started sneaking out of the window in our kitchen and one was coming back in in the middle of the night and my dad caught me sneaking in through the window and at first thought that I was an intruder.

00:46:43 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, jeez.

00:46:44 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 4:

Almost scared the daylights out of him. But, yeah.

00:46:48 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, it's crazy.

00:46:50 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, usually the security systems aren't to keep burglars out. It's to keep teenagers in.

00:46:57 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 1:

Grace, you're a mom?

00:47:00 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am. I'm a mom of four. And my first child was Sunday night at a friend's house. And I got up around 3, 3.30 in the morning.

00:47:07 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. I got to dump that for a second. So, you saw your son and his buddy running?

00:47:18 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Yep. Yep. Across the lawn. So, I called his dad, the buddy's dad, and I said, you can keep him over there and deal with it because I know he was a much harder on his kid than one.

00:47:31 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Where were they going? Because that's the big thing.

00:47:33 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the girl behind our house.

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:47:37 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 2:

Was the girl to be known To entertain quite a bit

00:47:41 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh no Oh boy I know

00:47:45 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

It's like okay You had a fun night that night didn't you buddy

00:47:50 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 1:

This one by the way this is interesting Because Luke snuck out and we were not home We were on vacation So that's a wild one too because I remember when We as kids We actually traveled to the Wisconsin Dells Have you ever been to the Wisconsin Dells before I've never even heard of that Wisconsin Dells is I grew up in Chicago so everybody from Chicago would go to Wisconsin Dells kind of like how everybody in Michigan goes like up north okay to northern Michigan so Wisconsin Dells was like the place that you'd go to and it was kind of like the cheesy little town and stuff and I remember we snuck out and we started walking through town and the the ranger from the Wisconsin Dells guy busted us put the flashlight in our eyes hey kids what are you guys doing and he ended up driving us back to the hotel that we're staying at the motel that we were staying at which was great because i did not want to walk back i was too lazy janette hi

00:48:45 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 3:

hey janette yes hi okay so i was 13 and we lived in this apartment complex and my mom always stayed on the third floor so i would um climb like i would sneak out and i leave the balcony door open so i would climb back up the third floor of the balcony when i was coming back in well one time apparently she figured it out and she locked the slider door oh no yeah so i had to sleep on the balcony on the third floor until she woke up for work at like 5 40 in the morning that's a

00:49:32 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 1:

parent play right there were you an athlete growing up because as a kid i could never actually i ran track yeah the kids that could climb up at climbing three stories that's amazing uh peggy who brought your who bought brought your sneaky little bastard home

00:49:49 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 2:

my sneaky little daughters

00:49:51 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 1:

and what happened

00:49:54 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 2:

the police I was in bed we were all in bed so I thought and

00:50:00 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 3:

And I get this knock on the door, and then my doorbell rings. My dog starts barking, and I open up the door, and the police are like, we have a complaint that your kids were making noise in the backyard, too much noise. I said, my kids are up in bed. He said, ma'am. And he had the girls come around the corner. He goes, they were underneath the pine tree in your backyard.

00:50:20 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

00:50:20 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 3:

So, anyways, he was looking, and he found them underneath the pine tree. And the next morning I went out And lo and behold So there were a bunch of bottles of booze Underneath the pine tree with them He didn't find them thank God Because then they would have got a PIP

00:50:35 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 5:

By the way your daughter You're not the neighbor of that lady That called a little bit ago Talking about the girl

00:50:43 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 3:

Hi my face Mojo in the morning show

00:50:49 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 5:

It's good to actually be back To being able to have people in our studios You know, we're doing backstage passes that we do for charity auctions. And Shannon, you donated one to a school auction this weekend for your fiancee, Wes's kids.

00:51:05 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So I donated a backstage pass to his daughter, Samantha's school. It's her last year of middle school. And so I was so nervous, you guys, though, because normally when we donate them, they're like a silent auction item. Right. So like people can go up and bid throughout the night or whatever. And even still, I get a little nervous. I was like, please, somebody bid on it. Please don't let it have like $5.

00:51:27 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's because we have people come in studio. And when they come in studio, we'll say to them, hey, so how much did you pay for this? And they'll be like, $5.37.

00:51:36 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 2:

But also when it's an event that you're at, I don't want to be embarrassed and have our show not have any bids. So I show up on Friday night. It's a masquerade ball themed fundraiser, by the way, which is really fun. Well, I see like now they use the apps for these auctions, right? So you can like look at all the auction items or whatever. And I see the Mojo in the Morning backstage pass. I see it as a live auction item. And I looked at Wes and I said, it is not supposed to be that. This makes me so nervous now because everybody's going to be watching. So I'm like, please, please, please just let it go for like a good amount of money.

00:52:11 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 4:

If it's a live auction, it could tank. If there's not a lot of fans in there, it might be like $100. And everybody's like, is there anybody that wants to go see Mojo in the Morning?

00:52:19 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 2:

I was so nervous.

00:52:20 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:52:21 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 2:

Thank goodness, you guys. It raised so much money. It raised $2,600 to go back to the school. Who bought it? Which I thought was so phenomenal, and I'm so appreciative to the guy who owns a great sponsor of our show, by the way, Green Flame Tequila. Oh, yeah. Oh, Ron. Yeah.

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Ron and Aaliyah are great people.

00:52:41 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 2:

The best. So after the whole thing is, you know, said and done, and I actually haven't met him yet. I think he came into the studio maybe, or you guys met him. I was either out on vacation.

00:52:52 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 4:

I've been at a few charity events and saw him out there spending money and then also had a lunch with him.

00:52:58 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so Wes said, you know, we need to find him at some point in the night and go say thank you. So I went over to his table. He wasn't there. Well, then I saw him later in the night. He came up to me, and so we were, like, chatting, you know, about him coming into the studio and him arranging it with KP and all of that stuff. Wes is standing right next to me. Tell me if this is bad. I didn't introduce Ron from Green Flame Tequila to Wes because this is a small school. I assumed they already knew each other. Well, they didn't. So that was bad on my part, yes?

00:53:35 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 5:

So Wes is just standing there waiting?

00:53:36 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 2:

Wes is just standing there. Awkward. He was talking to somebody. He was talking to a friend of his who was standing right next to us.

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 5:

And you're talking to the guy Ron.

00:53:44 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 2:

Talking to this guy Ron. didn't introduce them which came up later the night um hey hold on don't slide over that what came up because he's like why didn't you introduce me and i'm like well i assumed that you guys already knew each other it's a smaller school everybody knows everybody at this school and he's like well i've never you know i had never actually met him before i'm like oh gosh sorry i'm terrible at that by the way you guys i am so bad about making introductions of everybody yeah not just him um so that was my bad but also he wouldn't even look at west ron did not no he was just sitting there talking to you west was standing there and he goes i just kept waiting for him to

00:54:22 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 5:

take eye contact i don't know if he didn't know or that you guys were together well i don't know because i didn't make the introduction yeah it was i will say this to you that if if you are like Especially if it's somebody like that's of the opposite sex, especially I think like because I because I have that has happened before with me where my wife will be out with me and, you know, I'll be talking to a woman and Chelsea's just standing there and they don't they will not say anything. And I'm an idiot enough to not do the introduction.

00:55:00 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 3:

If the roles were reversed, I would feel the same way. I would be upset that he didn't introduce me. So I was kind of in the doghouse. But he still took me to Taco Bell afterwards.

00:55:13 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask you a question? How does that come up? Because whenever I have gotten in trouble at events, it usually comes up pretty quickly in the car ride home. Did it come up fairly quickly?

00:55:26 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 3:

You want to know what's so funny, thinking back on it, He may have briefly mentioned it that night, but it really didn't come out that he was upset until he was talking to you guys about it at Lydia's graduation party the next day.

00:55:42 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 1:

Still bubbling over.

00:55:43 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

And then I'm like, oh, I think I got you in trouble, too. I think you did because you were like, oh, no, no, no, no.

00:55:48 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 1:

He said this is what happened. So they're talking about the whole thing. And then were you there, Megan? And I said, and I said, well, Shannon, why didn't Shannon introduce you? And he goes, bingo, bingo. And he got up and shook my hand.

00:56:02 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 4:

And we all started laughing because we've all been in that situation. All of us dumb husbands in the past.

00:56:07 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 3:

We all knew each other at this school.

00:56:10 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 2:

Apparently not. When he reached out for that high five.

00:56:14 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 1:

He was so excited you said that.

00:56:16 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 2:

You said the right answer. I was like, uh-oh, she's in trouble. I was in trouble.

00:56:20 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 1:

When Ron and whoever else he likes to bring in here comes into the studio to use his backstage pass, Wes, you need to be in studio. Wes needs to be the one to greet him at the door. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, you have Ron's number? You want to call him? Yeah. Do you think Ron will answer?

00:56:36 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if he'll be awake or not. Every time I talk to him, he's traveling the world.

00:56:41 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Was Ron there with, doesn't he have a girlfriend or wife?

00:56:45 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 4:

His wife, Aaliyah. Oh, she's a partier.

00:56:47 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 1:

Was she there with him?

00:56:47 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 3:

If she was there, I didn't meet her because, like I said, we- Oh, maybe she was standing right next to him. No, we went over to their table, but he wasn't at the table when I went over to say thank you. Ron.

00:56:56 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 4:

Ron. Ron, it's Mojo in the morning. It's Spike. Hey, what's going on, bud? Hey, can we talk to you on the radio for a second?

00:57:03 - 00:57:04 | Unknown:

Sure.

00:57:04 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 1:

Ron, thank you for spending so much money on that backstage pass. No problem. What a great cause. By the way, did you notice a guy that was hanging out with Shannon?

00:57:16 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 5:

Her boyfriend?

00:57:18 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 1:

Her fiancé. Oh. I feel bad. Shannon rudely didn't interrupt you or didn't introduce you to him. So he's here right now. Hold on a second. Hey, Ron. How you doing? Good, bud. Hi. How you doing? Wes here. Just want to introduce myself to you.

00:57:40 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 5:

Well, I think we met a long time ago.

00:57:43 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you're right, though. Oh, that was not Wes, by the way. That was Mojo.

00:57:47 - 00:57:48 | Unknown:

I was just messing with you.

00:57:49 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 4:

Was Shannon rude? Did you feel a little off-put that she didn't introduce her fiance?

00:57:54 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 5:

No, but I know who he is because my daughter had his ex-cricate people. Oh, good.

00:58:00 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so it is a small community there, so you didn't know who he was. It was still just awkward that Shannon didn't want to make conversations.

00:58:06 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 3:

I apologize. Was Aaliyah there?

00:58:08 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 4:

Did you feel at all that maybe Shannon was making the moves on you because she didn't want to introduce her fiance?

00:58:13 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 3:

I went over to say thank you.

00:58:16 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 5:

No. No, she was fine. Okay, good, good, good. I tried to get her a drink, but she wasn't having it. Me? Oh.

00:58:23 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

I was actually drinking green flame tequila. I was drinking one of the specialty drinks.

00:58:28 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 1:

Ron, I need more coconut for my bar, by the way. You'll have it this week. You're the best.

00:58:34 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 4:

My friend Marion just discovered it. She's like, have you ever seen this tequila? It sparkles. And I said, I got you a bottle. I got one just for you.

00:58:41 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 1:

Ron, as many people as you want to come in studio to hang out with, you come in, okay? You got it. Thank you, guys. All right. Take care of yourself. Bye. I appreciate it. Wait, he actually knew.

00:58:51 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 3:

See? I wasn't wrong Well, now it even looks more awkward I'm still in trouble

00:58:56 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 2:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes

00:59:02 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 3:

The mouthed phrase from a White Lotus star at the SAG Awards that's causing some fans to talk this morning Plus the one thing in Carrie Underwood's closet that the internet is just going crazy about, those stories coming up in the news

00:59:13 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

Who is seen with who? Who's banging who? And what will you be talking about all day? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:23 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 3:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:27 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Guess what? We are commercial free now for well over an hour and we got a lot of stuff. The dirty phone scam, second date update, all coming up. Right now, we got a chance for you to hang out with the Mojo in the Morning show and honestly hang out with even cooler people than us at Irish and Ionia, Michigan's largest St. Patrick's Day street party happening on March the 18th in downtown Grand Rapids. We're going to give you an opportunity to win some passes.

01:00:00 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 5:

It really is a lot of fun, and if you're somebody that loves to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, it is well worth, especially if you're not from Grand Rapids and maybe have never been, maybe you are Detroit, Toledo, or wherever you're listening to us on the iHeartRadio app, listeners, you've got to get there. Saturday, March 18th, downtown Grand Rapids, Irish and Ionia is the best. I like it better than even Chicago and the craziness that they do, and plus I think they're doing their craziness the week before.

01:00:29 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And Mojo in the Morning is taking over this year. You guys got your own drink now. We have our own drink now, yes. What? Big shout out to Sib Shine for that.

01:00:37 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 5:

What is it, the Shamrock? Go ahead.

01:00:39 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 4:

It's the Mojo. It's your drink. You say it. Mojo Shamrock Slushies.

01:00:44 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yeah. Well, it's funny because at first they wanted to do the Mojo Mojito, but Mojitos are not very St. Patrick's Day-y.

01:00:52 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

01:00:53 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 5:

And then the Slushie idea came involved with a great sponsor, so it's kind of cool. It's going to be green, right?

01:00:59 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

01:01:00 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

01:01:00 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, they're smart. They're starting the day with a Mojo in the Morning broadcast before we start drinking the slushies. And then afterwards, we're going to host the stages and the DJ 10 and do all the fun party stuff. And then you'll find us sleeping on the curb by about dinnertime.

01:01:15 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 5:

And actually, that broadcast is going to be hosted by the Slightly Messy Podcast by Mike and Megan are going to be doing that. So real quick, can I throw out a call? 844-MOJO-LIVE. You can grab the phones, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I really want to give a huge shout-out to City Flats Hotel, which is in Grand Rapids there. It's actually in our building in Grand Rapids, our higher building. It's a great hotel. It's a great place to stay, and they're giving us free rooms.

01:01:46 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you.

01:01:48 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, if I wasn't going to have an opportunity to get a room there, I was going to end up either staying with Mike, Puddin, or Michelle McCormick. Those were the only three people that I knew that I could get a room.

01:02:00 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 3:

01:02:15 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:02:17 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 5:

Running a little late with the dirty, but that's okay because, you know, it's the first day back. It's kind of, I'm a little disjointed. I slept so much over the break.

01:02:27 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 2:

Good.

01:02:28 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 5:

I felt so good. Normally at this time, I would not even be up at this time. I slept till like 9.30 almost every single day. God, I hate you. Oh, good for you. Good for you. It was good. It was a good vacation. What's going on?

01:02:42 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 3:

In your own bed. I'm still couch hopping with no power. Oh, I know. We've got to talk about that by the way in a second. Yeah. Everything, everywhere, all at once. Took home Best Cast, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress at last night's SAG Awards. Now, if you're going, the SAG Awards are on? What are the SAG Awards? They weren't on TV. You had to stream them on Netflix's YouTube channel. So not many people were watching.

01:03:04 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 2:

I turned it on as background. My daughter, we were just like playing Nintendo and stuff. I turned on the Screen Actors Guild Awards. There was 22,000 people logged in on the YouTube. That's it? And I was like, 22,000? We have more people listening to our show at 5 o'clock in the morning than this national award show. Wow.

01:03:20 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 3:

So not many people watching or talking about it.

01:03:24 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, this one's been around forever, and it just keeps hopping to different platforms. I was excited thinking, oh, YouTube, it'll be loose. Like Netflix will make it more loose and fun. And other than letting people use the F word, it was still just another boring award show.

01:03:37 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

And after seeing clips, I was like, I disagree with you. I think it's one of the more interesting award shows that's happening this year.

01:03:43 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Specifically, I like it because the stars are all drunk and hanging with friends, so it's usually fun to watch. This year, there was no fun parts. I was like, honestly.

01:03:52 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 1:

What? Are you kidding me? The Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza? Aubrey Plaza.

01:03:57 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, back and forth. So for 30 seconds, they did an introduction, one of the category introductions.

01:04:02 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 3:

So people were talking about that. People were also talking about a very annoyed Aubrey Plaza caught mouthing something after the White Lotus cast won the SAG Award for Best Ensemble in a drama series. I don't know if you caught this, Megan. So John Grease, who plays Greg, Jennifer Coolidge's husband on the show, you know exactly who I'm talking about if you watch the show, seemingly pointed out to Aubrey that she was about to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. She was wearing this really cool dress, but it just had these two little straps that, like, covered her nip, like, barely covered her nipples, her boobs. Well, her boob was about to come out, which caused her to, you know, promptly adjust her dress. But while F. Marie Abraham was giving the acceptance speech right here.

01:04:41 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 2:

and a prayer a prayer for peace in Ukraine and Russia

01:04:46 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 3:

giving him this weird look staring him down and then she mouths quote unquote Jesus Christ and so people were like is she talking about

01:04:57 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 2:

his speech

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

his speech

01:05:00 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 1:

her dress like why did she look so pissed off but she definitely looked miffed about something you can see what i'm talking about on the dirty page at module morning.com ask a question can you feel when your nipple is almost out like if you're i mean i i say no megan and i were just talking about this on saturday actually because i feel like there are so many times when i wear those little like sticky nipple covers and then i look back at pictures i'm like half my nipple cover was showing and nobody said anything and I didn't even know.

01:05:30 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 3:

So if it's out, you don't feel a breeze or something? No, not all the time.

01:05:35 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 1:

Not all the time. The woman, excuse me, charged in connection with the theft of Lady Gaga's French Bulldogs says Gaga never delivered on her promised half a million dollar reward and so now she's suing Gaga. This woman said Gaga made it very clear that she would pay the $500,000 no questions asked when And she announced the reward after her dogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen from her dog walker at gunpoint. We all remember this story. The woman returned the dogs to Gaga two days after they were taken. Was she involved in the theft? Well, remember what happened here. The L.A. County D.A. said the woman was more than aware that the dogs were stolen when she returned them in the hopes of getting this award. She knew the men involved in the shooting. Right. They had, you know, a history that went way back. And so she was charged in connection to the theft with receiving stolen property and being an accessory to the crime. After the fact, she later pled no contest to one count of receiving stolen property. She got two years of probation. So she had a hand in it somehow. Right. But not only does this woman say, she said no questions asked, so I want my $500,000.

01:06:44 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Technicality.

01:06:45 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 1:

She wants the court to triple the damages to $1.5 million for allegedly posting the misleading reward. So this woman's still on probation.

01:06:57 - 01:07:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how that's going to work because there's no written contract between the two or agreement.

01:07:03 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 2:

And also it's rewarding somebody that was part of the crime.

01:07:07 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I don't know how that works.

01:07:10 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

I always wonder if there are people that ever do that. that ever, like, will...

01:07:14 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 3:

Like, if it goes to court, no jury's gonna side with her and make Lady Gaga pay her, right? I don't think so.

01:07:21 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, video of Carrie Underwood's closet laundry is going viral. She posted an Instagram reel over the weekend to talk about her seriously squeaky tight pants that she was wearing. Well, fans couldn't really care any less about the pants. They did notice something in the background of her walk-in closet, and the internet was just losing it. Surrounded by rows and rows of shoes and clothes and purses was a washer-dryer combo in her walk-in closet. Genius. It is genius.

01:07:57 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Then you don't have to put anything down a laundry chute

01:07:59 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 1:

or carry to the laundry. Commenting on she has a washer-dryer in her closet.

01:08:05 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 2:

How smart is that? Why is it that builders don't think of that, like when they're building a house to put a washer and dryer right in the... And a toilet next to my bed.

01:08:12 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 3:

Why do I have to get up in there?

01:08:13 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Not everybody has a closet that would fit a washer and a dryer. You know? You can see that and check out all of today's Dirty on the Dirty page at mojointheworning.com.

01:08:28 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Get the stories you'll talk about all day on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another phone scam in minutes.

01:08:36 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Laura. Hello, hello. Hello, hello. Happy almost St. Patrick's Day. Congratulations. Thank you so much. You're a winner. Yes, let's go. We are setting you up with some passes to go to Irish on Ionia. Have you ever been? I have not, no. Where are you from? I live in Rockford, which is terrible. I shouldn't have gone to this by now, but I haven't. No, now we're going to get you out. I like that. I like that we're getting some newbies out to Irish on Ionia.

01:09:08 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 3:

And it hasn't happened for two years, obviously, with COVID. So it's just so much fun to see it come back big. At its largest, they had 20,000 people show up in one day.

01:09:18 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, honestly, it's going to be so much fun. You're going to have a great time. It's happening. And I'm going to be one of those 20,000. I love it. March 18th, everyone's invited. There are details up on 1045SNX.com, so you can actually go to the website and find out all the details there. It's going to be a really good time. plugs uh thank you again to our friends from city flats and then mike who's the sponsor again for our mojo slushy shamrock slushy uh sip shine sip shine i'm gonna write that down because i'll forget

01:09:50 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

what is a sip shine they make uh tequila slushies and yeah yeah a bunch of different kind of slushies with booze in it where do you get sip uh do you get it at

01:10:00 - 01:10:02 | Speaker 2:

at different bars around town, or is it...

01:10:02 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, or sipshine.com, I believe, is their website.

01:10:05 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I would love to have that. I always wanted... There's a couple things I've always wanted in my house. I've always wanted a pizza oven. I see these people that have pizza ovens. I'm like, oh, my God, I'd love to have that. I've always wanted to have a 7-Eleven Slurpee machine. So maybe... I have to be careful with sipshine. Sipshine. Thank you. Megan was about to dump me on that one. I have my finger on the button. I don't need any more trouble after a couple weeks ago. And then I've always wanted a Dairy Queen soft serve machine. Wouldn't that be the ultimate? We're talking about Carrie Underwood's closet. Closet, washer, dryer. I want food items.

01:10:51 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 4:

I am on their website, and you can buy the slushy machine. Can you really?

01:10:55 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 1:

We have one on the 10th floor here in the SNX building. Really? Is it new? We need one in the new office. What flavors do we have in there? They don't leave it full. It's just a machine. I know. It's just a machine right now. We can ask them. They're coming in the week of Irish and Ionia. They're coming in that Monday to try out the Mojo Shamrock slushie. That's hard to say too. Wait. They're coming in to you? Yeah.

01:11:23 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

You can come in the snx this is a payback for all the times we've had food delivered us yes mojo why you on vacation

01:11:30 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 4:

we had a big birthday cake celebration for mike on his birthday everybody except mike

01:11:35 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 2:

they ate it while i listened honestly mike i would rather have this than have a birthday cake celebration oh yeah like that that i think you're getting payback in a big way then from us um all All right, I'm going to get to a phone scam here right now because it is 7.50, so I want to make sure I get to that on time before you have to go to school. And coming up here in just a couple moments, too, Shannon mentioned this just briefly, but she's still without power. It's like, what is it, day five or six? Day five. Jeez. Yeah. So we'll talk about that. Actually, you know what? This is actually a pretty good time to bring up that topic spike that you saw trending of people who have lost their power.

01:12:18 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I thought it'd be fun to talk to everybody about the superficial reasons that you were frustrated for losing power this weekend. Sure, we all need the heat and the lights and electric, but what was the one thing you really were mad about, like maybe your flat iron you couldn't use, or maybe your Nintendo wasn't working? Yeah. I thought that'd be a good topic to bring up. Like, what's the one thing without power this weekend that really pissed you off, aside from the necessity?

01:12:46 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500.

01:12:51 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Maybe your sip, shine, moonshine, slushy machine wasn't working.

01:12:55 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 2:

And say a prayer. I don't know what saint we have to say a prayer to, but we're getting that storm again today. And if we lose any more power, man, it's going to be craziness. All right, Mojo on the morning show is your home of the phone scams. Bruce is always the first to arrive to work. His coworkers want us to scam him. They've had some animals wandering in their garage before they will be, you know, taking the trucks out for the day. What if Spike told them that a wild animal has escaped from the zoo and it might be in their garage? I don't know if you saw this, but there was a zoo where a bear is on the loose. I think it might be in Cincinnati. Oh, geez. I saw from over the weekend. It's a mojo in the morning phone scam.

01:13:37 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the morning.

01:13:51 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Yeah, hello. Is this Bruce? This is Bruce. Bruce, don't raise your voice too much. This is Jerry from Michigan DNRDR Zoo and Wildlife Division. Are you at work, Bruce? I am. Don't move. Bruce, we are tracking a very large cat that has escaped the zoo, and I think someone might have let it loose as a prank. But it was in your neighborhood. Is your garage bay doors open or closed?

01:14:20 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 1:

They are open.

01:14:21 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Tommy and Little D say they are out here with us, and they said you were alone in there. I'm going to ask you to please not make any sudden movements, because we believe it may be loose in the garage. No. please stay still don't talk in a high loud pitch because they're actually very frightened easily and i don't want him to feel cornered we are outside because it might be right at the door to the garage that's the last place we've seen him wow this is crazy are you guys serious we are tommy gave me your number he told me you were still in the building and that's where we are concerned. We are going to

01:15:00 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 4:

try and collect the leopard where are you in the building now i'm in the garage actually okay please stay very still oh he's in there now they just saw him okay don't move freeze okay don't talk very loud okay just do you have any food in or around your workstation yeah yeah we have a fridge right in here shh don't talk very loud just be quiet and stay on the phone with me tell me immediately if you see something we're gonna walk in from the front door so if he is started we'll run out the garage bay door okay are you still there with us bruce yeah i'm here okay please i don't mean to freak you out but please don't talk in a high pitch i don't want him to mistake you for prayer you understand so please just talk very low talk very if you can talk to a lower voice, okay? Can you guys get this thing out of here? We're gonna get him out just right quick. We're gonna come in from the front, drive him out the back. Stay very still, because I don't have my tranquilizer gun. We arrived here in a hurry. Okay, I think Vince is pointing at something out there in the garage, okay? Just be very still. Oh my god, there he is! He looks more like a 400, 450 pounder. Don't move I'm not doing a thing It's crazy Oh my goodness He is just looking around He looks confused as could be He is the largest I've ever seen Okay, just stay very still I want you to now In a very low voice Just say, go cat Go away cat Make a deep voice sound So it might, you know Drive him towards the garage door

01:16:48 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

Go away cat Go, cat. You get rid of this guy. All his lunch is on me.

01:16:55 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, lunch is going to be on your coworkers when you find out that they set you up for a phone scam. Oh, you guys. You guys.

01:17:07 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 6:

They said sometimes animals will wander in your garage.

01:17:11 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, little critters like a squirrel or something. But the biggest thing I ever saw was a raccoon. I'd love to see a leopard up close.

01:17:17 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 6:

No, you don't want to see a leopard too close. That's true. That's good stuff. Thank you, guys.

01:17:25 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. You're home with a phone scam. This is Mojo in the Morning show. You've just been phone scammed, sugar. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:17:40 - 01:17:41 | Unknown:

I've got the power!

01:17:42 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Poor Shannon. This has been day number five of No Power. You and a lot of people. I saw them talk about this This is such a big story The loss of power in Michigan I saw the national news say That this is the second largest Power outage in the history Of the state Because that storm was so bad last week The ice storm And now we're getting another ice storm later today

01:18:10 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 3:

I woke up this morning And they had said throughout the weekend That we would get our power back today And then I woke up this morning And they changed it to tomorrow So I am about to lose my mind.

01:18:20 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 5:

Of the 50 states, Michigan ranks sixth in the longest power outages. And it's just because we have some older cities that they still had all these electric power lines that they really should have buried years ago with all the ice and snow we get on a yearly basis.

01:18:34 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 2:

I think the majority of our local listening area here is above ground. And I think that it's the select few newer neighborhoods that kind of go below.

01:18:47 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 5:

But yeah, my old neighborhood in Walled Lake, my new neighborhood in Southfield, they're still they're buried. But you have to get the power from other towns that it goes through first that have electric power lines up there.

01:19:00 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548. If you're still out of power right now, you're probably, you know, too pissed off to even call us up for this topic. But what is the most superficial thing you miss not having power? Because I will tell you this Last summer I lost a bunch of power And it always for me Was if Comcast Xfinity was out That would be the end all be all Like I could In the summertime especially I could do without power I don't really care

01:19:27 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 1:

Don't take my Wi-Fi away That's the hardest part Because then I have to talk to my family Right And I don't You know what I mean Like I don't want to

01:19:36 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 5:

I had so much work to do this weekend And it was all involving internet And I realized like You know my girlfriend works from home And she can just take her laptop to Starbucks. She could do her conference calls, but she can't play Nintendo. Yeah.

01:19:49 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 2:

The power is out. That would be a tough one. Annette, you know the feeling, right? What's the most superficial thing you miss with no power? Good morning. So I work overnight. I'm a caregiver.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

and

01:20:00 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 3:

When I come home every morning, I actually watch TV in order to fall asleep. So I stayed in my house for four days with no heat and mad as hell because I couldn't go to sleep without the TV. It's tough.

01:20:12 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 2:

How did you do that?

01:20:15 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea sleeps with a sound machine. When the power would go out, we didn't have the sound machine to make noise. I do, too. So that was a tough one. Oh, this is a definite necessity. Beverly, what is it that you miss when the power is out?

01:20:27 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 4:

running water and the ability to flush the toilet you must live with a well i was gonna say yeah we have a well too yeah yeah it's uh it was having to go after 24 to 30 hours of four toilets filling up having to go by the big five gallon jug to fill the back so you can flush it we told

01:20:52 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 1:

the kids, don't flush, and it got a little stanky after a while. Nicola.

01:20:58 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

01:21:00 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Hi, what do you miss?

01:21:02 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God, my coffee maker. Oh, girl. That's a good one.

01:21:07 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 1:

Don't mess with Mama's coffee maker.

01:21:10 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 3:

For real, you're already cold, so you want to wake up to some hot coffee, at least drink it at night before you go to bed now. I can't get me my hot coffee because it's different from one Starbucks. I need to have my But coffee made with bottled water, not that water. Oh, you are famous. Bougie.

01:21:28 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 1:

Wow, look at you. Speaking of bougie, Patty, what is it that you miss? My heated toilet seat. Oh. Wow. People are trying to get water.

01:21:42 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 2:

I just want heat.

01:21:44 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 1:

You have a heated toilet seat?

01:21:47 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good. I know. We're just joking. You're right. You're right. We did ask for those superficial calls. Let me tell you, Patty, we've gotten several text messages from our female listeners who say they can't charge their vibrators. Oh, my God. Oh, no.

01:22:04 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 1:

We need to get the car chargers out. For the kids, that's a massager. A massager. It's a neck massager. It's a massager for your back, your neck. Yeah, although this is a tough one. Judith, hi.

01:22:14 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah, so I had to take my reptiles to my boyfriend's house because, you know, they need lights. They need heat lamps

01:22:21 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 1:

I never thought about that You can lose animals

01:22:24 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 5:

Yes you can actually fish I used to work at a pet store And a lot of people would lose fish and stuff And it was pretty crazy And yeah his mom wasn't very thrilled

01:22:33 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine How big is your reptile

01:22:38 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 5:

No I have a few So there was at least like three tanks You know

01:22:44 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 1:

And if you're not a reptile type person Like I'm not I would be like keep it out in the garage Joy Yeah Hi Joy What is it that's the hardest thing for you When the power's out

01:22:58 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 2:

01:23:03 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 1:

01:23:22 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

01:23:23 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 1:

01:23:24 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 2:

Tony said, we have a Tempur-Pedic bed, and I can't move it.

01:23:28 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

01:23:29 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 2:

Text her, Tony. That's another good one. Oh, what if your bed was stuck in the sand?

01:23:33 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 5:

What if it was in?

01:23:36 - 01:23:39 | Unknown:

One down. One down. One down. One down.

01:23:39 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 5:

Six to noise.

01:23:41 - 01:23:42 | Unknown:

01:23:43 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 5:

For Mojo. Mike. Shannon. For Mojo. Good morning.

01:23:51 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. We are commercial free. We are here. Do I have to show like a current newspaper to show that we are live today? It's February 27th, 2021. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show today.

01:24:08 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 2:

What?

01:24:09 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

I know. I'm just kidding. I just want to see if anybody caught that. People do. They catch it. Good to have you guys here with us today. and good show for you. This morning's show has already been so good. You've got to go back and if you can, go listen to our recap of Lydia's party, which we're going to talk about again coming up here in just a little bit because we've got to talk about the party poopers but we'll get into that and we, throughout the show will podcast from earlier in the morning. So that was our first break of the morning and it It is so great to be able to hear us kind of kick off the show and say, hey, and what's going on. So if you want to listen to it, feel free to go and have that thing fired up and ready to go. And we'll podcast throughout the show so you can kind of get caught up.

01:25:00 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 2:

on everything that we're talking about. Still to come in just a matter of, I don't know, less than 17 minutes. Second date update. Why are you not getting a call back? The most unbelievable thing to bring with you on a date happened, and that's the reason why the call is not happening for a second date. We will do that in just moments here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Megan, you brought something up on Saturday when we were all hanging out with each other. that I was kind of floored by. I was shocked that this would, this happened. But somebody is secretly recording you, you found out?

01:25:38 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for months. And I had no idea that this was going on. So I'm sitting in my studio here in Toledo and we have had cameras set up in our studio for years. I mean, I've been with you guys for what? How old is Smith now? He's going to be six in June. So it'll be six years I'll be with you guys. And then we had these for a couple of years before that. So let's say eight years these cameras have been in the studio, right? Well, the other day, last week on Friday, I walked into our kitchen here in our building. And we have a television set up with all of our security cameras, like footage rotating through. And I look up and it looks a lot different than I've ever noticed it looking before. because as i'm looking up on this television i see my studio and i go rut row what's going on um there is a camera in my studio that apparently has been turned on and recording for months on our security footage and nobody told me now here's the thing i i'm not doing anything i'm not supposed to be doing right like nothing really bad has happened but I know for a fact that I have unbuttoned my pants reach down and fix my spanks here and I know that I have done some other clothes adjusting while I've been in this studio because I'm alone in here and thought I was alone and had privacy because nobody told me otherwise I've been told for years none of these cameras are hooked up or turned on or anything and that they wouldn't be until we move to our new building and now there's a website that my co-workers can access with all of this footage and i was not told about it and i'm like really upset about this wow i mean i would be too so what did what did they say when you when you said something about they gaslit me of course they did so what did they say they were like oh yeah we got a new security system a couple of months ago and they had more hookups for us so we just decided to turn on more cameras, I guess we just didn't tell you.

01:27:51 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. It wouldn't matter if you're not doing anything wrong.

01:27:54 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 3:

Right, but it's not about that. It was about the fact that I've changed in front of these freaking cameras. Right.

01:27:59 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm saying that's the gaslighting.

01:28:01 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly, Mike, exactly. But I'm so angry, and everybody's like, I don't understand what the big deal was.

01:28:11 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, especially if you're changing in front of it, that's a big deal. number one and only number one

01:28:17 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 3:

and even conversations to me Is it audio too, Megan? Great question Great question That would scare me Where do I go to talk bad about the people

01:28:31 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 2:

who are looking at those cameras?

01:28:33 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Great question

01:28:34 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody ever had this happen to them where they did not know that they were being recorded and what happened on those recordings? I always thought that you had to have a note that said that there's There's recording happening there.

01:28:47 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 3:

I thought you had to be posted somewhere, right?

01:28:49 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, or sent out.

01:28:51 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 1:

An all-staff email or something. Right, right. Did they offer to walk on the website with you and delete the footage?

01:28:59 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 3:

No, they legit were like, you really shouldn't care. The way that I was completely gaslit into being like, it's not a big deal. And nobody wanted to say anything other than, I guess we just didn't tell you. Megan, did you make sure to go through your email and check to see that they didn't send you an email six months ago? No, I promise you. I even confronted the guy who was in charge of our security and was like, he's our head engineer. I was like, when did this happen? He was like, oh, I guess we didn't tell you. That came out of his mouth. Oh, okay. Yeah. Wow.

01:29:37 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. I remember when they put the cameras in our studio, not the ones that you guys see us post on our social media. We put those in ourselves. But back in the old days, before we were on in Grand Rapids and Toledo, we were just on in Detroit on 955.

01:30:00 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 4:

They put these cameras in the studio, and I remember that they were put in, and we were all told, they were all told that these cameras are here. This was pre, like, the good cameras we have now. And I remember the night show at the time was Big Boy, and I remember Big Boy used to put, I think he used to spray it with, like, cream cheese or, like, whatever. Spray cheese. Spray cheese. and or or he would put like he would always over the top because he didn't want anybody seeing the stuff that was going on in the studio because it was it was like non-stop webcam and um or people would throw like underwear over the top of it right you know so it would be covered up because it was it it does make you feel weird when you know i feel i figured nowadays we're all recorded all the time like anywhere you go everybody's got a phone and it feels like everybody's you know recording it. Honestly, can I be honest with you, Megan? I feel just as violated being at Lydia's party the night with KP.

01:31:02 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 3:

Every time I turned, KP was filming me from the side. I was like, oh.

01:31:06 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I also get irritated that it was not all studios. It was just me and one other studio.

01:31:11 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 4:

That's even weirder. What's going on, Melissa?

01:31:16 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 2:

Hey there. Megan actually has a case if she really wants to take get up the ladder because ohio has a video recording laws and uh it's against the law to record anyone when there's an expectation of privacy so do we know do we know any who's the

01:31:36 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 4:

who's the big tv attorney in uh toledo like we have sam bernstein who's the big one there

01:31:42 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

i'm calling yeah no but you're protected megan so you know you should fight that one

01:31:48 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call. I'm going to represent you. Ooh, hold on. Hi. This is the leprechaun. It's coming out next week. Kim, you're being voice disguised, Kim.

01:32:02 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

01:32:04 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's the story you got for us?

01:32:08 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 1:

So I found out that my husband, he got a spy pen where it looks just like a pen and he put it in a plant in our home and um he put it in there when he went to work and he was recording me working from home wow why did he not trust you that that's what you were doing or or why no there's i i was like i was so shocked and um you know it's like such an invasion of privacy right and i was really upset and his response was there should

01:32:50 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 4:

be no privacy we're married now and no that's so creepy had there had not never been an infidelity

01:32:58 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 1:

or anything like that not on my part on his part and i told him i felt like i was going to be on the episode of Dayline because, like, that's him crazy.

01:33:07 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:33:09 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's been an issue. But I moved into his house, and so he said it's his home, and we have cameras on the outside of the house. But he said because it's his home that he could be able to watch.

01:33:24 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 3:

That is so controlling. That is weird. And if he's the one that was caught in infidelity, then it's almost like he's checking to see if you're home while he's out.

01:33:31 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:33:33 - 01:33:34 | Unknown:

Yeah, exactly.

01:33:34 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 4:

Question for you about your relationship with him. Did you at any point have to worry about anything you had said about him on this camera?

01:33:45 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's a great question.

01:33:47 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 1:

No, it wasn't anything that I said about him, but a friend's husband had sent me a video recording to check on me because I had some surgery, and so he was just sending me a recording saying, hey how you doing and he even included my husband like in like the voice text and so my husband said that i watched my friend's husband's video like several times wow he was questioning that he thought that you have something going on with this guy yeah you know there was absolutely

01:34:24 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 3:

nothing there well i mean that's what we always find out with war of the roses the guys that are out sneaking around. That's scary, Kim. They blame you.

01:34:31 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Interesting. Voices, guys, also, Lily, she might sound like the last caller. Let's hear what you sound like, Lily.

01:34:41 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning.

01:34:43 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 4:

Now you sound a little different because you don't have the wind noise. What's going on? Cool. Awesome. What were you calling to tell us?

01:34:48 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

So, okay. So, I was in school, and they had just installed new security cameras, like, one of the last years I was there. And so I was caught doing something.

01:35:00 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

A little explicit On camera I ended up getting suspended from school And then my dad gets the call And he had to meet with the superintendent And watch the video Oh no

01:35:13 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 4:

What were you doing

01:35:15 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 3:

What level school is this Is high school

01:35:17 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

No it was middle

01:35:19 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 3:

And were you alone or with somebody Oh with And your dad had to sit and watch that With the administrators Yeah. Oh, that's uncomfortable.

01:35:31 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 4:

I'll be honest with you, though. In middle school, you have no rights.

01:35:35 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:35:36 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 4:

And you were doing it.

01:35:38 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 3:

At that point right there. But why do they have to watch it with the dad? Can't they just...

01:35:42 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying, you know? But then I was... At least for what it's worth, I learned my lesson, and I never did anything ever again. But, yeah, no. That was just a really rough day.

01:35:54 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 4:

That ruined you with all the guys in your life?

01:35:57 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 2:

A little bit. Yeah, his friends definitely laughed when I came back to school.

01:36:01 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Wow. Could you imagine, though, being a dad of daughters if you had to go into school? Be like, I'm not watching. I believe you. I wouldn't watch it. That's exactly it. I believe you. I believe you because what's going on. All right. Well, Megan, a lot of people saying that this is not good. So whoever that you deal with at that crazy radio station of yours, they need to answer. I'm her attorney.

01:36:32 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's scary.

01:36:33 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm her attorney. You're getting a letter from me. Not today.

01:36:37 - 01:36:39 | Speaker 1:

If you're my attorney, I'm going to owe I heart money.

01:36:41 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning show. It's fun hanging out on Saturday. We were all together doing some fun stuff for Lydia's grad party. Uh, if you missed us talking about it earlier this morning, it was great, but, um, I will say this. I did feel a little out of place cause I did show up at the time when all the dancing took place. And I'm going to say this to you. It's awkward when people are dancing and you're just watching them dance, like maybe not at a strip club because a strip club is not, it's, it's, you know, that's usually what you're supposed to do. But when you're at a party and you're the person that's sitting down, I felt like my, I, you know, like my grandparents. No, not at all. You dance at your seat, and they were having a blast. It was fun to watch. Mike, I felt a little awkward. I just started doing the hand, the fist, the Jersey Shore fist pumping.

01:37:30 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 3:

When you walked in, you came in a little late as the dance floor just started, and you had to walk through the dance floor to get to the table. Yeah, you did.

01:37:39 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 4:

It was, yeah. But it was, I was thanking God that all the Chaldean songs were playing when I came in, because usually I can get myself out of having to dance because I don't know if you're supposed to dance or not dance. And then all of a sudden he broke into Nelly Ride With Me or whatever it was at the time. Lydia, come in studio. You got a second? Lydia's answering the phone. She's who you talk to when you call up 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The DJ was amazing. Yeah. He did a great job. Seriously, he did a great job.

01:38:12 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 3:

Everything about the party was.

01:38:14 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 4:

Were there any party poopers there?

01:38:16 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 1:

were there any uh I don't know it might be one of you guys so oh really yeah because I saw your

01:38:22 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 4:

I saw your story here who was the actual party pooper yeah I want to know if any of you wanted

01:38:28 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 1:

to crap your pants there and just were holding it in because as I was sitting at the table so I had my family on one side and then I had all of you guys on the other and I decided I was going to sit at the mojo table so as I was sitting there I was talking with KP and we were just making a little bit of conversation and i acted like i was gonna get busy and i turned around because i started to smell a fart oh no oh no i didn't want to say anything to kp and i didn't want to say it out loud because somebody made a stinky any of you guys wait so who are you sitting by i was sitting by you oh geez kp okay and spike all right so spike's meg was sitting kind of near us as well

01:39:09 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 4:

okay so spike's girlfriend was standing up you said megan or was from our show was standing up Who, which one was?

01:39:14 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 1:

No, it was just Spike's Meg.

01:39:15 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 4:

So it was Spike's Meg. Okay.

01:39:17 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 1:

It was Spike, and it was you and KP.

01:39:18 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 3:

KP. So it's one of the three of us. Well, it definitely wasn't me. I'm definitely-

01:39:23 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 1:

What if you had too much falafel? That's all right. No, I wouldn't. You said the worst one to deny it. Falafel make you gassy?

01:39:29 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't eat the food that was being served because of my food allergy, so I just had a salmon, grilled salmon.

01:39:36 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. But she got you special food, right? Yeah.

01:39:38 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 3:

But no, I don't up to farts for sure, I would tell you. It wasn't me this time.

01:39:41 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. Okay, so I'm trying to – then let's do a bet here with the listeners guessing on this one. So there's three people that potentially could have been –

01:39:50 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 1:

It was not me, by the way. And that's why I don't say anything to KP.

01:39:53 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 3:

Or what if someone crop-dusted and left? What if they laid a bomb and walked away?

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

I think it was another guess.

01:40:00 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 6:

walked past us well here's the catch so later on i didn't say anything but later on kp and i were getting ready at my house to go out and i was like did you smell that fart when we were talking and she's like yeah i smelled that too so we were both in curiosity which one by the way he he who

01:40:15 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

smelt it dealt it did the crime yes exactly what was what was kp's face when you said did you smell Was she, like, nervous? Like, yeah, yeah, I smelled it, too.

01:40:27 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 6:

No, she was like, oh, yeah, I smelled that.

01:40:30 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 5:

But I feel like you would admit it.

01:40:32 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 2:

I feel like you're the type of girl that would admit it if you did it.

01:40:34 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 5:

I'd be like, oh, I'd probably leave this area within the next two minutes.

01:40:39 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 4:

I have to be perfectly honest with you. I don't think I did have any gas that night because I had been flying all day and I hadn't eaten at all. Really? So I didn't have anything in me.

01:40:49 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 2:

You're very open if you fart, too. You say, oh, man, that was a bad one.

01:40:53 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so the process of elimination, are we saying, Spike, have you ever smelled your girlfriend's farts?

01:40:58 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

I honestly don't think she farts. I don't think I've ever witnessed her fart before. In front of you. And 99% of the time, if somebody farts, there's only the two of us, it's got to be me because I don't think she farts.

01:41:10 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be interesting if we all smelled Meg's farts before you got a chance to smell Meg's farts? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Wait, Stephen, this just happened to you?

01:41:22 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just yesterday I was at Walmart with my girl, and I farted. And then she walked up to it, and she smelled it. And she said, did you fart? And said it so loud, everybody in the store turned around and looked at me. I was so embarrassed. I was like, oh, my God. I just thought I'd die laughing and walking away like, oh, my God. Why would she do that to me? Stephen. We usually joke like that, but usually nobody hears who we talk like that. Stephen, do you ever do this? We walk around the store talking junk to each other.

01:41:49 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

When I'm at Target or any other store, and I fart, this recently happened at a Kroger, what I do is I zigzag when I'm starting to walk because I don't want the fart to actually follow me. So I walk in a zigzag so far apart so that it won't actually follow. Yeah, exactly. Try to get away from the whole thing. Thank you for the call. Oh, my God. Tony, hi. Who do you think it was, Tony?

01:42:13 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 6:

I think it was Mojo because men totally fart and don't even know it.

01:42:17 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, and women, what? Like glitter coming out of her a-hole Or what's the story

01:42:22 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 1:

Now you're learning That mojo ain't no good

01:42:28 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 4:

I will say this to you That I honestly felt good on Saturday night I didn't have it Normally I do I've had it before Where I have farted in the studio Only to have Angel Or one of the other sales reps Walk in and go Hey And Angel whenever she comes in Always wants to give a hug God

01:42:46 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I wish I was sneaking some out on Saturday night. I felt so bloated. It would have helped me a little bit. You know what's funny

01:42:55 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 5:

about Mojo, though? I was sitting next to him, and I'm like, do you want to eat? I'm like, let me get you some food. And I went up to go ask for your gluten-free food. And they brought you your food, and you wouldn't eat it. And I'm like, why don't you eat? And you said you don't want to eat when other people aren't eating.

01:43:11 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 4:

I can't. I have a hard time. I don't like to eat by myself. Like it makes me feel like Everybody is looking at me And you know Look at the fat guy over there still eating You got jelly in your belly You little fat fuck

01:43:24 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 5:

You're trying to feed me falafel And you only ate half of yours You're like, have you ever had this before? I'm like, yeah, I've had it

01:43:32 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 4:

I was trying to get somebody to eat with me So then I could actually sneak some food

01:43:35 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 5:

I said I will eat my leftovers I'm stuffed to the brim But I will eat with you just so you can eat

01:43:40 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 3:

And you guys know this It happens all the time If we're hosting an event If we're like MCing a charity dinner or something and then they bring the plate after we're done talking but then you're the only one eating but then as soon as you put something in your mouth all the listeners come up to say hi and you're like chewing and it's like oh you got tabbouleh in your teeth so i always have to like eat in the car before i go into a charity event that's the one thing middle eastern food

01:44:02 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 4:

is a tough date food because tabbouleh's all in there you got a salad receptacle right there in

01:44:07 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 6:

your uh your front teeth what's going on what's going on shelby um 100 it was lydia It was definitely not, Shelby Plot twist Yeah, well

01:44:22 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 4:

It was Lydia

01:44:23 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm sure Lydia's stomach is accustomed to Middle Eastern food But she might have been nervous It was her party

01:44:31 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 4:

I will say this to you, though That it was her party, so I'll take ownership for it then

01:44:37 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 2:

I also don't think Lydia would have tried to squeeze out a fart in that all-white outfit

01:44:42 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

No could you imagine oh my god uh all right let me get to the second date update again the most fun we ever have is talking about duty uh all right here you go it's uh mojo in the morning it's the second date update

01:45:00 - 01:45:42 | Speaker 1:

in the morning why you're not getting a call back after you went on a date we're gonna find out right now so nick not calling back taylor how you doing hi well you know it could be better yeah so you went on a date and you're not getting a call back but there was something that you did on this date that i gotta tell you i don't think you should have done and nick's gonna tell us about it right now nick are you there hey how you doing good say hello nick to taylor hi hi nick so how you doing

01:45:42 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

you know just like curious so why why we're not um we're not going on a second date you know

01:45:53 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 1:

So, Nick, you told our producer about the date. And when she told us about this, I'm like, we got to get these guys on the air. Will you tell the listeners what Taylor brought with her on this date?

01:46:10 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, Taylor, she brought her friend Amanda on the date.

01:46:19 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 1:

And she wasn't invited, right?

01:46:23 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 4:

No, no. It was supposed to be just the two of us.

01:46:27 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 2:

What was the reason, Taylor? Was it for security, or you were just out with her already? Or why bring a friend?

01:46:35 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, I don't understand why this is weird at all. It's not like we met before. We've only been messaging on Facebook. Yeah. And, you know, how dare I make sure that I'm safe just in case, you know, he's an act murderer.

01:46:48 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay, no, we agree with you wanting to be safe, but shouldn't you mention that? Because I think a date implies one plus one, hanging out together.

01:46:56 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's not like we said that in so many words. You know, it's also important for people to meet my friends. Like, you know, I'm just trying to start slow. I didn't think it was weird at all.

01:47:05 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so let's paint a picture for us. So you went and picked her up? Nick, or did you guys meet out?

01:47:16 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 2:

No, we met out, and she showed up with her friend.

01:47:19 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you show up, and you're sitting at the table, or you walk up to the table, and they're there?

01:47:29 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 4:

No, we met out front, and there was, like, two of them.

01:47:32 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:47:34 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 4:

And then we went in, yeah. It was super weird.

01:47:37 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 1:

But do you have to bring somebody with you if you're in a public place? I mean, I get the idea that you want safety, and women definitely, and men, should have safety when they're going on a date. But if you're in a public place, do you have to bring another person with? And if you do bring another person with, like in Taylor's case, shouldn't you have to say something?

01:47:57 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes, of course.

01:47:59 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 1:

Like I'm inviting?

01:48:00 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 3:

Yes. That is an awkward situation to walk into.

01:48:05 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 1:

Taylor, have you done this before? Totally. What kind of reaction did you get from other people that you've gone out with?

01:48:14 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it's just like a group hang. It's not weird at all.

01:48:17 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, but it wasn't a group hang, it was a date.

01:48:19 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

That wasn't the expectation, right. I think that, I mean, and this is my personal opinion, but I think that you and Nick need to get to know each other first and then kind of bring friends into the mix of getting to know you guys, right?

01:48:37 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 1:

Here's the question. When you go on a date and you're expecting that your date is with one person, Can you bring a friend with without even mentioning it to the person that you're going on a date with? And that's what Taylor did. And I'd love to ask this question, too. What did somebody bring with them on the date that was just, like, really strange? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Nick, what did you think of Taylor's friend? What was Taylor's friend's name?

01:49:11 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 4:

Amanda.

01:49:11 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 1:

Amanda, what did you think? Who did you like better, Amanda or Taylor?

01:49:15 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, that could also happen. Right? Well, I don't know. I ended up paying for both of them. Well, that was my next question. That was my next question. I was going to ask who paid because that's another implication of bringing a third person to the date. Like, there's expectations there, isn't there?

01:49:33 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Nobody's forced you to do that.

01:49:35 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

But did you offer Taylor? Did you say she's going to pay for her stuff?

01:49:39 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 4:

I mean, he offered first, and we were like, okay, thanks.

01:49:46 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 1:

Let me grab Jill here. Jill, what did you want to say? Second date update?

01:49:50 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I think this is a little bit weird. If it was a group hang, then she should have said something, and he probably would have brought a friend too. But to invite your friend on the date is a little bit weird. weird. She could have just sat at a bar or at another table. Don't you think it would have

01:50:04 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 1:

been weird if he showed up with another dude? You know what I mean? Like, I get the idea that you want to be safe and safety is definitely for both. But if a guy, if a guy, all of a sudden, two guys show up at the date, you're like, what is going on here? You feel like you're being

01:50:21 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 4:

taken advantage of. Absolutely. Right. I would feel even more weird at that point. Like what is going on she could have just had her friend sit at the bar that way something happened she's right there right or let him know and then he would have brought a friend too and then it would

01:50:35 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 1:

have been awkward um marilyn what's going on second date update hi um i think she was just

01:50:42 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 5:

a little obvious about it like for example when i was in high school um i went on a date and it was at a movie theater so i just had my friend and her other friend be like at another movie But at the same theater That was just in case anything happened You know, she was there But I think Taylor was a little bit obvious About how she did it And it was kind of imposing for Nick

01:51:00 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah Yeah, it seems very obvious and very awkward Mojo on the morning, 844 Mojo Live Text her here, 95500 Says that I don't see anything wrong with this Except for the fact that she didn't tell him ahead of time When I go on on dates I always make sure that I bring friends with And he's even brought friends before in the past Another texter here says, you were talking about strange things people brought with on their date. I went on a date with a girl who brought her two dogs with her on the date. It was really awkward because the dogs didn't like me at all. Could you imagine if all of a sudden you bring your dogs with, although that's a good indicator of whether or not you're actually going to like the person. um i'm i'm shocked at the amount of people that uh are texting in not seeing anything wrong with what taylor did people that actually are looking at it as just a safety thing what's up

01:51:55 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 7:

mo i'm sorry shannon what were you gonna say well people are texting if he was so weirded out by it then why didn't he just end the date right there when he walked in and saw yeah why why did you

01:52:04 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 1:

not do that nick hold on i'm gonna put you on hold for a second turn your radio down mo why Why didn't you just, if you were so weirded out by it Why didn't you just get up and say, you know what, I'm leaving

01:52:14 - 01:52:31 | Speaker 3:

I just felt like I had to be Like a nice person I just felt like, you know I don't know, I just felt like I felt trapped To like Do the right thing, which in retrospect Seems, you know, I was kind of pissed off When I left

01:52:31 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 1:

Mo?

01:52:33 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah?

01:52:34 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 1:

Comment Mo Oh, boy. Now, Moe would be somebody you'd want him to bring somebody with on the day.

01:52:45 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 3:

It doesn't hurt him, so.

01:52:46 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 1:

Sam?

01:52:47 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm just kind of curious. Like, you're not comfortable hanging out, like, one-on-one yet because you're getting to know each other. Why wouldn't you just suggest, like, hey, like, let's get a couple friends together. I'll hang out. Yeah. If they hit it off. That's a great idea. Ask for a one-on-one.

01:53:02 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever done that?

01:53:03 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 6:

I have, yeah. And it worked out. I'm married to the guy. Oh, that's cool. Come on now.

01:53:08 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I would be afraid because most of my friends are better looking than me. So I would be afraid that that would actually turn whoever I'm going on a date with off. But I could see where that would be.

01:53:20 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 7:

That's actually another great topic is did you ever like double date, you know, for a first date or even, you know, first couple of dates. And it turns out that the guy that you were dating liked your friend more than you, you know.

01:53:33 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 3:

That was a risk.

01:53:34 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that would be bad. Mojo in the morning, hello. Oh, God, that phone line is a little kind of rough, huh? That doesn't sound very yummy. What's going on, Mojo in the Morning? Therapist Jen is on with us. Hi, Jen. Hey, guys. Hi. How are you doing, Jen? Give us your professional opinion on this.

01:53:55 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 2:

I have a good feeling that the girls thought it would be funny, and, you know, let's see how he reacts. And maybe it was last minute, like, you should just come. Yeah, just come. Are you serious? you know and they had this whole conversation really thought it was kind of fun how did you get that i didn't get that at all i don't know i just got a good feeling because no you know that's just really socially um you know awkward no one does that without saying hey i'm gonna bring my friend or my you know it's just too strange that she i feel like the girls thought hey you know maybe she said last second like just come i don't think it was this long drawn out plan but i have a feeling that it was last second and she said just come and they were curious how he

01:54:33 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 1:

react are you friends with her and you're just trying to to make her or she is this a a patient

01:54:39 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 2:

or client of yours that that's my gut feeling and then they wanted to see how he react and of course

01:54:44 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 1:

she'd want a second date because he was awesome about it i don't i don't get it at all i don't

01:54:50 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 3:

think that that's the case at all i think you're giving too much credit but yeah i have a gut

01:54:54 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

feeling i i do because no all right then let's ask her taylor she didn't say that up front taylor

01:54:59 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

is generally

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 2:

right in that your gut feeling that you just thought it would be something fun to do with

01:55:03 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 6:

friends or did you just do this because you or last second i mean it was more like last second

01:55:10 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 2:

okay so no all right what do i know when i don't see you're a great therapist i think you were leading the witness yeah stick stick to stick to calling us up and giving us giving us advice during breakup or makeup and am I an a-hole, Jen, because I think your second, I think you might be wrong.

01:55:32 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 3:

Your whole business is actually built upon second date update and the lack of communication, but I think in this case, you're giving her an out.

01:55:40 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 2:

Katie, what did you want to say? Hold on.

01:55:42 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I agree with therapists, Jen. I think that they were looking for a free meal. And it was the way that she responded to you when you said to her, you know, why didn't she pay for herself? I was like, oh, well, he offered, and we were like, okay.

01:55:56 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 1:

Right.

01:55:56 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 4:

It was just bizarre. I think if I was in that situation and I was like the third wheel, I would have said, you know what, I got this. You know, I'm here. You guys are on a date. I've got my own. But, like, that was very planned.

01:56:07 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 2:

God bless to whoever just sneezed and got me there. All right. You can turn the microphone.

01:56:14 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 6:

It was a long, drawn-out plan, but I think it was just, like, a last-second, like, hey, just calm. You know, I'm cool with it.

01:56:22 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's that phone line again. Hold on, Jen. Hold on, Jen. All right, Jen. Love you. Thank you for calling.

01:56:28 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 6:

Love you, guys. All right. I appreciate it.

01:56:31 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 2:

Mo?

01:56:33 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:56:33 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 2:

Or Mood. Is it Mo or Mood? It has two O's up there. Mood. Mood. I did not want to say that to you because I didn't know that would be bad if all of a sudden I say Mood to somebody.

01:56:43 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 5:

Mood like a cow.

01:56:44 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Mood?

01:56:46 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 5:

I just think it's weird that people are asking, like, why wouldn't he just end the date and things like that? I think he was being a normal human and thought it would be, you know, rude to be like, okay, you guys are weird. I think he was being an adult and knew that maybe she brought her for safety. But also, I think it was weird that the girls didn't say, hey, you know, I just brought her for safety. You don't have to pay for her meal. Like, come on, girl. Like, I think that was really the situation was strange.

01:57:13 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 2:

it was it was definitely to me going you know i don't know out of line for her to do that and not to actually think that uh you know she should have to pay for the meal for this friend um thank you for the call second date update here on the mojo in the morning show more comments you can always uh go and hit us up on instagram facebook um we oh you know what before i do the contest uh for concert tickets we're going to do here at 8 30 i want to announce something today's a big day that we're making the announcement that mojo gives you a baby is back our i don't know how many years now this has been a long time we have so many babies but mojo in the morning is teaming up with dr shama at ivf michigan and what is the uh uh ohio fertility centers right yep um dr Shama has been helping people have bundles of joy for many, many years. 01:59:19 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

And how old is Lucy?

01:59:20 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 7:

She's going to be nine next month.

01:59:21 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 2:

02:00:13 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:00:16 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 5:

We're more than an hour commercial free. This has been good. A lot of uninterrupted opportunity to talk and get a chance to talk to the listeners. Now we're going to get an update on the Dirty. What do you got?

02:00:27 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, Woody Harrelson raised more than a couple of eyebrows while he was hosting SNL over the weekend, including his COVID vaccine theory into his monologue.

02:00:38 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, I was telling you about that script. And start reading. Okay, so the movie goes like this. The biggest drug cartels in the world get together and buy up all the media and all the politicians and force all the people in the world to stay locked in their homes. and people can only come out if they take the cartel's drugs and keep taking them over and over. I threw the script away. I mean, who is going to believe that crazy idea, being forced to do drugs? I do that voluntarily all day long.

02:01:15 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 1:

I mean, people, as you can imagine, had lots of thoughts on social media and were posting all sorts of comments.

02:01:22 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 5:

What did the show say? Because I would think that show... Well, it's written for him, right?

02:01:27 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he sits with writers and puts a monologue together.

02:01:30 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 5:

Do you think, or do you think he did it on his own?

02:01:32 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, I haven't heard any stories this weekend of him going rogue. I think, I'm sure, they have rehearsals. They have the pre-taping they do in case they have any issues with the live.

02:01:42 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 1:

It's on a prompter, right? Yeah. I mean, I guess he could have ad-libed it.

02:01:45 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

I mean, is it possible it's just a funny, sarcastic joke that people are not catching or trying to make a bigger issue of?

02:01:53 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:01:53 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know. That's interesting.

02:01:55 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 1:

The Federal Environmental Protection Agency has ordered Norfolk Southern, the company behind that train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, to stop its shipments of hazardous waste from the site of the disaster so that it can review the company's plans for disposal. I know officials in Texas and right here in Michigan are complaining they didn't know it was coming. They didn't receive any warning that contaminated water and soil from the train derailment was going to be shipped here. Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said through a spokesperson that he was not briefed on where the shipments would be sent. The EPA told CNN that it will ensure that all waste is disposed of in a safe and lawful manner at EPA-certified facilities to prevent further release of hazardous substances. I know I was listening to the news this morning. They've got two specialty centers in Ohio now where they're going to be shipping this waste. And I believe it has resumed as of this morning. I could be wrong on that.

02:02:47 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 5:

How do they have specialty centers for stuff like that? So they actually have, like, a toxic waste place. We have a bunch of them right here in Michigan.

02:02:53 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 1:

And it's monitored very, very carefully.

02:02:56 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is it really? No, that's what they say.

02:02:58 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't buy it. No, that's what they said on the news this morning is what I'm telling you. Of these two places in Ohio.

02:03:03 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 5:

Whenever they say, oh, yeah, we monitor it great. You ever drive by Romulus in that dump area there? You can smell everything.

02:03:12 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 3:

So two years ago, the one over by Hamtramck right off of I-94 was under a lot of scrutiny because they made it nine times the size among all the problems of the public hearings where they were saying a good portion of the people that live right next to it can't speak English and didn't understand the hearing. And these places, remember the green ooze leaking out on the 75? Yes, onto the highway.

02:03:34 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy.

02:03:34 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, these places exist, and no one really pays attention to them until there's an accident.

02:03:39 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 5:

Do you mind if I pick up the phone?

02:03:41 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 1:

I just saw that line ringing. No.

02:03:43 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 5:

I was hanging out with these guys last week when I was on vacation. The Joe Show, it says that Jed is on Jed from the Joe Show What's going on? We're in the middle of our Dirty on the 30, is it important?

02:03:53 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 4:

02:04:20 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 4:

Are you Mojo? Oh, wait, hold on. Let me turn on his mic. No, it works. Yeah, couldn't you have taught your son how to turn the mic on? Well, in the studios, you just think about it.

02:04:28 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 5:

Can I explain to our listeners? Today is the last day that they are in the historic 93.3 FLZ studios that they've been at for how many years now?

02:04:39 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 4:

1989.

02:04:40 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 5:

The Power Pig. Wow. And they're moving to new studios.

02:04:44 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 3:

So your new studios are done. You're moving over.

02:04:47 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're moving. They're finished for the most part. And we're going to – Hillsborough County just has been way too expensive. Too many people moving down here. And they said we're sending your asses to Clearwater.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 8:

So I might start a church I don't know what I'm going to do

02:05:02 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 6:

Shut up You better be careful Megan says they'll come after you if you talk about them

02:05:09 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 8:

Not clear water I'm just talking about a religion Hey so the question is We're going to call Ashley's dad right now My mom Oh your mom okay we're calling Ashley's mom Wait we haven't talked to Mama Neen in a long time

02:05:23 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 1:

I know she's up right now

02:05:24 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 8:

Where was I conceived dad Because I know you and mom fight about it Oh, Lord.

02:05:29 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 6:

No, no. This is a big one because last week we actually went to Disney while we were down in Florida visiting Joe. And you were conceived at the hotel, the one where we parked our cars. Port Orleans. Took the tram. Yeah, the Port Orleans. Port Orleans in Florida, room 383. Brian Fink, if you ever want to go by that room, that's a toxic waste dumping center right now.

02:05:59 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 7:

I'll have to leave this room just because of this.

02:06:01 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

02:06:02 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 3:

That's a great conception place, by the way.

02:06:04 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Disney. That's where we went on our honeymoon.

02:06:06 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 3:

I asked my parents one time, and they were like, in bed, at home. That's not fun.

02:06:11 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 8:

Happiest place on earth. So get this, though, because Jed and I are best friends. Jed, and my mom says that's not true. It wasn't at Disney. It was on a cruise. Jed says he was conceived on a cruise.

02:06:21 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 7:

Carnival Cruise Lines, it was probably about May of 95 because I was born in 96. So I think it was St. John or something like that.

02:06:30 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 6:

If you're born at sea, you're not an American citizen, Jed. That means that all your conspiracies are not valid anymore.

02:06:36 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 7:

That's not true. You're a traitor of our land. That's not true because both of my parents are American citizens. So no matter where I'm born, I'm a citizen of America.

02:06:43 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 6:

No, not the case.

02:06:45 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 7:

Sorry, you have 48 hours to pack your bags.

02:06:47 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 6:

You can't vote in the next election, Jed.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 7:

We'll explain everything.

02:06:51 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 6:

All right, I love you guys. By the way, the historic Power Pig Studios, lots of great talent has come out of that studio there, and lots of great and very vile things have been done at that radio studio. Fact. So it's an amazing place. It's sad that we're losing all the history of, like, all these great iHeart Studios, but it is nice to be able to get new equipment, you know?

02:07:12 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 8:

My microphone might work at this new place, so I'm pumped. I know.

02:07:15 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 6:

All right, I'll talk to you guys later.

02:07:17 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 8:

All right, love you.

02:07:18 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 6:

Love you. Bye, guys. All right, Shannon, go ahead. By the way, we got time, so you can do as much as you want.

02:07:22 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 8:

Oh, okay.

02:07:22 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'll try to keep us on time. But American Idol got really heated last night when a contestant named Trey Lewis, I believe, opened up during his audition about surviving the 2018 suiting at Santa Fe High School in which 10 people died. There's been so many now, unfortunately. I don't even remember that one. But nonetheless, here he is.

02:07:42 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm from Santa Fe, Texas. In May 2018, a gunman walked into my school. lost a lot of friends uh eight students were killed two teachers were killed yeah so that

02:07:56 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 3:

really really affected one of the judges of the show katie perry she got real emotional about

02:08:02 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 4:

this our country has failed us facts this is not okay you should be singing here because you love music it's true not because you have to go through that i agree you don't have to lose eight friends i hope that you remind people that we have to change because you know what i'm scared too

02:08:30 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 3:

wow you can see that and all of today's dirty on the dirty page at nojointhemorning.com

02:08:36 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 5:

celebrity dirt directly from the source is mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30

02:08:46 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 6:

Caught me off guard. I didn't know you were going to end it there. But let me get the winner here. Hold on.

02:08:51 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 7:

Your call may be monitored or recorded.

02:08:54 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 6:

Kayla.

02:08:56 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:08:57 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Kayla. You're a winner. Congratulations to you.

02:09:01 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I'm so excited.

02:09:04 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 6:

Kayla, you're going to see the Kid Leroy, who is just in town in December for our Jingle Ball. and you're going to be going to see Kid Leroy at Eastern Michigan University. Congratulations.

02:09:18 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. I'm so excited. Thank you so much. I don't want anything so I'm super pumped.

02:09:26 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 6:

Have a great time, okay?

02:09:28 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Alright, hang on the phone

02:09:30 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 6:

for a second and we'll get you set off with us.

02:09:32 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

You run and repeat it and I can't take it back so in the past is where we'll leave it.

02:09:39 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. What does Mike's neighbor do for a living?

02:09:44 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I'm glad I'm not the only one that, like, when somebody moves into the neighborhood, they all kind of look and see what they're all about before they actually go over and talk to them. That house is right across the street from me. It finally sold, huh? Yeah, it finally sold. There's a new couple.

02:10:00 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 6:

in there and i think they're a couple anyways i haven't actually gone over and met him yet because i can't find a time when they're there and i'm there during the day like they only they're in and out at even earlier hours than than we are like two three in the morning and i only know this because he was stuck in his driveway during that ice storm a couple days ago like literally trying to pull into his driveway and he's got like a hill driveway so he's like trying to pull up it but he couldn't figure it out so immediately the first thing like he couldn't figure out how to just get up the driveway so i immediately went well he doesn't know how to drive in michigan well you know what i mean because you would figure if you've done it for a while you'd know how to do that and then i noticed and i'll send you guys this in the group chat he's got this giant it looks like a video game trailer like i don't know if he he moves like oh whoa yeah yeah and it just sits there and i've never seen anything come out of it it could just be a moving trailer i have no

02:10:53 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 2:

is it one of the it looks like it's a it's like you can rent them for like birthday parties yeah

02:10:58 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 7:

we did that for one of luke's parties oh so yeah like inside inside there's uh possibly a bunch of like in the one that we did was a uh bunch of tvs where the kit you can have like a bunch of your

02:11:10 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 6:

friends over and you can play video games together so he either runs that then because it's been sitting there a couple days they're not doing anything with it or maybe he did rent it and he's waiting for a party um and he's like i said i've never seen him during the day and him and i assume a girlfriend or wife or whatever are only there in the middle of the night and they leave all the lights on when they're not there i have no idea what's going on i have no idea what they do but i thought it would be interesting to to have everybody guess what they do and then i'll meet them eventually and it'll probably be something simple my neighbors all thought

02:11:41 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 7:

in my old neighborhood that we lived in in the woodlands they all thought that i was a drug dealer at first because i left at weird hours and came home at weird hours or like i was home during the middle of the day, you know, stuff like that. They're all like, oh, this guy's out doing sketchy stuff. And then they found out this is, you know, when we first started our show.

02:11:59 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 2:

Before I moved to the house that I currently live in and I was living by myself, I never, you guys know this story, I never, ever met my neighbors, Mike. Never saw them except for one hand up to like the elbow, one of their arms that would reach out of the door, get the mail, and then the arm would slowly go back into the house. So I made up the story in my head that they just like chopped up little, chopped to little pieces people in their basement and buried them in their front yard. Like they were, it was just, it was the weirdest thing. They never, ever, ever came out of their house and I could not figure out why.

02:12:36 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 6:

Did you, what did they end up doing?

02:12:38 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Like what did, I don't know. I never met them. And I lived in that house for like, yeah, I lived in that house for six years and I never saw them. Not one single time.

02:12:47 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 7:

Deshaun.

02:12:47 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 5:

how you doing buddy good good good hey you know everybody always thought about mystery you know my wife works at the hospital or whatever and you know at the time you know i bought her a ring you know let me let me say this i messed up big time so i had to get her some real nice when i was going to marry her you know she put up she put up with me a lot so at the time her ring was like seven grand about what six seven years ago i fell up yeah about six seven years ago when i got a and people at her job will always come up to her like, oh, what does your husband do? What does your husband do? And I drive a truck for a living. You know, I save my money and it did real good. And she would tell me, again, she would tell me we're talking about he was a drug dealer or something. I didn't have nothing nice.

02:13:30 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's really offensive.

02:13:32 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 5:

It's very offensive, yes.

02:13:35 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 7:

But honestly, Deshaun, what else do you do besides what you're holding?

02:13:40 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's annoying.

02:13:42 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 5:

I'm a part-time gigolo.

02:13:43 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 7:

I knew it I love when you call Deshaun Deshaun I always wondered sometimes what our misfits That call us up all the time do for a living I'm like how do they have this much time to be talking And calling us up all the time

02:13:56 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 5:

It ain't chicken if you got it right

02:13:58 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 7:

I like it Caddy what's up

02:14:02 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Hey I think they're police officers And I think that they are You know just conscientious about Safety and I think Gone all hours of the night It's all shit. They switch around. And then that fan in the mobile, sometimes they use that with the kids for mentoring. You know, they go out to different events and things like that in the community. So I think they're police officers.

02:14:26 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 7:

That is, I'll be perfectly honest with you, that is a pretty good guess.

02:14:30 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think so, too.

02:14:30 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 7:

Or they do some kind of security or something. Maybe they're security people. I don't know. That's a good one. Trisha, what do you think?

02:14:36 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 3:

um so i'm wondering if your neighbors are resident doctors because i'm about to start residency next year and i know they work crazy hours yeah this all makes sense for the hours

02:14:48 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 1:

and the lights on it doesn't make sense for the trailer out in the driveway that's a side hustle yeah well that's what it could be you know or my neighborhood that's the only thing great side

02:14:57 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 2:

hustle and by the way you should become friends with them so you could use that truck yeah Well, I want to know what they do for us. It could be like, hey, we have candy in a van, and then I go get the candy in the van, and then they trap me in the trailer. Oh, that would be scary.

02:15:07 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 4:

Don't be that neighbor peeking through. And chop you up into little pieces and bury you in the front yard. See where I'm going?

02:15:11 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Don't peek through the blinds.

02:15:12 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 2:

Go over and introduce yourself. I'm gonna when they're home. They're never home. Yeah. Don't you think that they look at Mike and they wonder what the hell he does, too? Because honestly, I wonder what he does, too. I'm like, what does Mike do?

02:15:23 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Mike, what's going on? You guys are driving to work, and it's like 4.30, 5 o'clock and you see other people driving through your neighborhood. It's so funny. I'm such a hypocrite because I'm like, who are you? Where are you going? And yet we're the ones that wake us well.

02:15:38 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 2:

I always ask my neighbor, Brittany. She knows everybody's car in my neighborhood. She literally lives at the end of the street and I could ask her, whose car is that? And she can say, oh, that's Larry's car. Larry lives in the third house on the left. I'm like, how do you know all this stuff? She's like, stay at home mom, I'm staying at her home all day wondering what's going on. I think she also works for the FBI doing a little stuff. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

02:16:03 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio.

02:16:07 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Welcome to Mojo in the Morning show. Phone scam on the way, the dirty on 30. All coming up here in a little bit. We are your home, of course, for the phone scams, the War of the Roses, and the dirty on 30. uh i gotta keep getting asked for these morgan wallen tickets it's what it's funny because i uh you know we normally normally don't play morgan wallen but we do get tickets from time to time to a lot of the country shows and i know that there are some of these top 40 stations that are playing the new morgan wallen songs um but uh i have had people ask me for so many tickets to this Morgan Wallen show more so than even Taylor Swift or Beyonce.

02:16:53 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:16:54 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think the thing is I think that Morgan Wallen sold out so fast I mean, I know they all did but I don't know what the story is.

02:17:08 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know what he's charging but his audience is young so I don't think a lot of people have money for $400 pair of tickets.

02:17:14 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 2:

I try to listen to his music. Like, I tried to actually listen to, you know, to some different stuff over the vacation that I was, you know, away. Yeah. And I try to listen to a Morgan Wallen song. And aside from that Whiskey Glasses song, I don't get them. And I know that this is bad to say this because I got KP over here, our producer. Don't even start with me right now.

02:17:37 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 4:

Biggest country music fan in the whole entire world.

02:17:40 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 2:

She would marry this.

02:17:42 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 1:

No, I would not.

02:17:43 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

This guy. No, I wouldn't. No, you wouldn't marry him?

02:17:45 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 1:

I like his music, and that's it. Yeah. We've talked about that before, KPU. Oh, yeah. Just because I like his music does not mean I would marry him. I've seen interviews of him speaking, and I just know that he would not be someone I would marry.

02:18:01 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's interesting. Can I tell you something about the guy? Yeah. I have now pulled all this. First off, I think that it's amazing how this guy, talk about a guy that got himself into trouble and got himself out of trouble so fast. Oh, yeah. I want to know who his people are. Because those people got him pretty much unscathed.

02:18:18 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 4:

Same people who got Reese Witherspoon out of trouble when she-

02:18:20 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, when she did her. Had a DUI. Yeah.

02:18:23 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 3:

This is a difference, too, I think. A DUI than what he was doing. She said bad things, too. No, she said-

02:18:29 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 4:

Remember, she pretended she was pregnant.

02:18:31 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she was lying to the cop. He was being racist.

02:18:34 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, didn't Reese Witherspoon say something, too, though?

02:18:36 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 3:

No, she was just like, don't you know who I am? Like, being a really obnoxious celebrity when she was drunk.

02:18:42 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 1:

i don't know about morgan wallen like every with me in particular like on my like we get like a little recap of like what we listened to throughout the year like in a certain app streaming app and he has been my number one album and all five of the songs that are on repeat for me are all his for the past three years straight yeah it's unreal i don't know what's in his songs or if it's some kind of voodoo, but I love it.

02:19:11 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you go to all the country shows that are around too?

02:19:14 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 1:

I made a pact with myself that I would try to go to any concert that I could because I just love music so much and I feel like I'm living at home. I'd rather spend my money on experiences than paying rent. So that is what I've been doing for the past year and a half. I feel like I've gone to more concerts than I've ever gone to.

02:19:34 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you were just at SZA, right?

02:19:35 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, it was so good.

02:19:37 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, especially because we've been starved of that live entertainment for a few years.

02:19:42 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know. And I I did something kind of risky a couple of weeks ago with the whole concert situation. I I ended up buying 12 concert tickets for me and some friends to go to a country concert for my birthday. And I was like, what am I doing? How do I know if these people are actually going to go or if they're going to pay me back? 12 tickets. That's a lot of money. How much were the tickets? I think it totaled to like a little over $1,000.

02:20:14 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:20:15 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's risky because you really got to trust your friends.

02:20:19 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 1:

I think half of them I knew for sure was coming. And the other half, I'm like, okay, you know what? I will, you know, figure something out with the rest.

02:20:26 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 3:

I mean, ask Megan. She only bought a few Harry Styles tickets and got screwed.

02:20:31 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right.

02:20:32 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 3:

We're not 12. Wait. Yeah, I remember that.

02:20:35 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 2:

You have 12 friends? I didn't even know you. I don't even have 12 friends.

02:20:39 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Hey, if you have concert tickets, everybody wants to be your friend.

02:20:42 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Whose concert was it?

02:20:44 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 1:

It's not even a big country singer. It's Ko Wetzel. He's going to be at the Masonic Temple on the 25th. And the 26th is my birthday, so I'll be turning 24th that night, which is going to make it so much more fun.

02:20:55 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 2:

Who is Ko Wetzel?

02:20:56 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 1:

Ko Wetzel is just, he's a redneck. He's great. No. Mike, are you being honest with me?

02:21:01 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 2:

I was like, who is Ko Wetzel?

02:21:03 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

He's, I don't even, his songs are too inappropriate to sing out loud.

02:21:07 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 2:

Are they? Yeah. Something to talk about. I'm looking at all the songs in here.

02:21:12 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 1:

He's got the things, the drunk driving song, I'm just drunk driving again.

02:21:17 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 3:

It's one of those outlaw, like, half country, half rock guys.

02:21:20 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love it.

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 2:

This is him, huh?

02:21:23 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 1:

He's got more hype songs than this, though.

02:21:26 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 2:

Are we invited, since you need 12 people to go?

02:21:29 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. I felt like you guys did not want to go to this. I did not factor you into the ticket thing, although Lydia is going.

02:21:40 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 5:

My favorite thing is KP knows I'm not a country girl, but she was like, I know you don't really like country music, but do you want to come? I'm like, yeah, sure.

02:21:46 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 2:

It'll take a time. I feel like that you are profiling me. I go to country concerts. I've gone to Zac Brown. I've gone to Rascal Flatts. I go to the big ones, though.

02:21:57 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 1:

You leave events early. This is going to start at, like, 10.30.

02:22:03 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:22:05 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 1:

I mean, if you want to come, I can try and get a 13th ticket. No, no, no.

02:22:09 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 2:

What night of the week is this? It's Friday night. Oh, it is Friday night.

02:22:13 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, darn, I'm busy that night.

02:22:14 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, at least it's a Friday night, though, right? Yeah. So you've got 12 friends that want to do something on a Friday night.

02:22:19 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 1:

Here's the best part about this. I usually hate coordinating events because of that. I'm just not a details person. and I want someone else to put it together, and I'll show up. I'm the supportive friend that will always be there. I don't put things together because I get super disappointed when other people don't put in the time to come to my events because I will always be there for my friends, if that makes sense. So I just don't plan events at all. This, I was so surprised. Everyone paid on time. Wait, oh, wait. So you bought the tickets. You got all your money back.

02:22:46 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 2:

I thought you bought the tickets to give them to your friends. No. You bought them to resell.

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 4:

No, hoping that they would Venmo-er.

02:22:54 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 1:

And they all Venmoed within 48 hours. That is impressive. Only two people were last minute. They're like, I get paid on this day. I'll give it to you this day. And they did. They didn't even have to remind them. They just Venmoed me. And then two of them bought plane tickets to fly home to come see it with me. Where are they from? One's from Arizona. And the other one is from Florida. Wow.

02:23:19 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 2:

Cole Wetzel's not playing in any of those places?

02:23:21 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 1:

No, they're coming for my birthday. Oh, it's your birthday. And that's why I'm so like, wow, this is so awesome that people are actually coming out to celebrate my life. It is nice.

02:23:31 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 2:

You're charging people for your birthday. That's amazing.

02:23:33 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, I feel like people pay a lot of money to go Uber places and go out to bars and you spend the same amount. Why don't we just go to a concert and have a really good time?

02:23:41 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 3:

They must really like you if they're flying from Florida to Detroit in March.

02:23:45 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying. Like, oh, my God, you guys, thank you.

02:23:49 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We weren't invited to her birthday or Cole Wetzel. Thank you for that. Again, she wouldn't even invite us out Saturday night.

02:23:58 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 1:

I will put together a luncheon for all of you. A luncheon!

02:24:04 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

A luncheon. Keep insulting us. We're the ones with bank accounts.

02:24:08 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 1:

The worst part is, you guys, y'all won't even show up on time because I went to Lydia's graduation. I got there at 4.30. You guys roll in at like 5.30. I'm alone at this table that has 12 plates and I'm the only

02:24:20 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 2:

one sitting there. What time did your party start? at, Lydia? My party started

02:24:24 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 3:

at 4.30. 4.30. The invite said 4.30, but I asked her in advance because I said I might not be able to make it there on time, and I wanted to check that it wouldn't be rude.

02:24:32 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 2:

You and Lydia seem like you guys are really good friends. You guys have developed a good relationship with each other. To get her to go. That's your girl? Are you going to make her go to any of the concerts that you like to go to?

02:24:43 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I would, but I appreciate her because she comes to all my Chaldean things. She loved the vibe at Buma. It was cool.

02:24:48 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Are there Chaldean people that go to country concerts? I don't think I've ever seen a Chaldean person at a country concert.

02:24:53 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

I'll be the first.

02:24:54 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

You'll be the first there? You'll walk in there and they'll be like, who's this?

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

i'll send you the wardrobe like the outfits that you should wear actually borrow my coors light

02:25:05 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 1:

I look at those guys and I'm going, you son of a bitch. You guys look good. No wonder why my wife likes this music so much.

02:25:39 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 2:

We should buy you a trucker hat. Or a cowboy hat. I do have trucker hats.

02:25:42 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 1:

I actually, when I golf, I wear trucker hats when I'm golfing because I like it. Yeah, I do. I don't look cool, though. Because I'm wearing that with a polo shirt or whatever. But hold on. What do we got here?

02:25:53 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 4:

You have a sad one.

02:25:55 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 1:

02:26:36 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm looking at the Billboard. I'm going to look at the Billboard Hot 100 chart here. And I'm going to find out what is chart. Oh, here you go. Last night is number five in the country right now. Last night.

02:26:49 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 4:

Kodak has a song with Kodak Black

02:26:52 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 1:

Come on They actually had him do a song with Kodak Black

02:26:57 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 4:

It's called Wasted

02:26:57 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:26:59 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if it's clean You should play it, it's actually pretty good

02:27:02 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 1:

No, because it's probably dirty Do country fans like to hear Kodak Black doing his thing?

02:27:09 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 3:

Every country star has brought on a rapper in the last five years to collaborate with

02:27:13 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 1:

I thought they all just bring Nelly on And they all have Nelly do something Here's last night

02:27:19 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 2:

This is a bop. I actually kind of like it. I do too.

02:27:38 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 1:

Tony's hating this right now. He's like, Mojo, you've now gone to the dark side.

02:27:44 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 2:

I want to get to the chorus. This is 99.5

02:27:50 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 1:

Highway Country

02:27:50 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 3:

A lot of text questions for KP On your friends that are flying in Is the Florida friend Producer Jed from the Joe show

02:28:02 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 4:

I actually invited Jed And I don't know if he's coming or not Is he coming? I don't think so He wasn't one of the ones at Venmo you No

02:28:09 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

I can't see Jed at a country concert Oh I could Are you kidding me? No did you hear what Joe got him for his birthday last week? VIP Nickelback He's going to see And meeting Nickelback

02:28:22 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be the best day of his life

02:28:24 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 1:

Chad Kroger and everybody Monica, what's going on? Hi What do you think? If Mojo in the Morning Show goes country Would you follow us over there?

02:28:34 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 2:

If you're the host, I would

02:28:36 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thank you That's very nice of you 99.5 Young Country

02:28:41 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 2:

Yee-haw

02:28:42 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 4:

And for those who are asking, yes, I did get my Morgan Wallen tickets with Hardy and Bailey Zimmerman.

02:28:52 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 1:

How did you afford $1,000 in Cole Hardy tickets or whatever? Cole Wetzel. Cole Wetzel tickets. And those Morgan Wallen tickets were expensive. How much are we paying you?

02:29:03 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 4:

What is going on here? Yeah, let's just say I'm irresponsible. You save any money?

02:29:08 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 1:

I know you're living with your grandparents right now, but I thought you were doing that to save money to go.

02:29:12 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 4:

I spend my money on two things Car repairs and concerts

02:29:16 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 2:

You know what's great about this song?

02:29:32 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah What is it? Because I don't know I can't hear it The ending? Yeah You don't like it? Are there any country songs that you like? Oh, I like a lot of country But I tend to like the older country, but I can't separate. Sometimes it's hard for me to separate the artist from the music. Like I can't listen to Chris Brown anymore. I can't listen to Morgan Wallen. Once they do something really stupid.

02:29:53 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you something, though? They all have.

02:29:56 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to play a song for you that gets everybody dancing.

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

We all haven't said racism.

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm saying nobody's perfect.

02:30:03 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 5:

You don't get drunk and throw the n-word around unless it regularly comes out of your mouth.

02:30:08 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 4:

It's funny, though, because if you go to a Morgan Wallen concert, look at it, there's actually a lot of black people that love this guy. Okay, but that doesn't excuse what he's saying.

02:30:17 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy. There's a lot of people that are fine with a lot of things.

02:30:21 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 6:

A lot of things happen at those concerts that are uncomfortable. Really? Yes.

02:30:27 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 4:

All right, hold on. I got a song to bring us all together. There's no race involved in this thing.

02:30:31 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 6:

Is this chicken fried?

02:30:32 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 4:

No. Okay. Better. We're going to have a little sing-along. A little sing-along. Ready? Come on. Even non-country fans love this song.

02:30:43 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 6:

Blame it all on my roots. I showed up in boots and ruined your blind time. Time affair. The last one to know. The last one to show I was the last one you thought you'd see there

02:31:00 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 4:

I sing like every third word

02:31:01 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 6:

I saw the surprise and the fear in his eyes When I took this glass of champagne Yeah And I toasted you and said, honey, we may be thrilled But you'll never hear me complain Yeah

02:31:18 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 5:

Cause I got friends in low places where the whiskeys go So the beer chases my blues away I'll be okay

02:31:34 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 6:

We can hit the low one I'm not big on social graces Think I'll slip on down to the oasis

02:31:45 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 4:

Phillip, sing along with us. Come on, buddy. Yee-haw! Yee-haw! What's happening?

02:31:59 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 7:

Yee-haw!

02:32:00 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:32:01 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 7:

How you doing?

02:32:02 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, how you doing?

02:32:03 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 7:

I'm fine. This is Draco Phillip. I always call you guys and you hang up in my face because you say, how are you doing? I always loved country music. My son and I, we always go to country music all the time.

02:32:18 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 5:

Is it a requirement if you're a trucker that you have to like country music?

02:32:22 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 7:

No, it's a relax. When you're driving, doing 500, 600 miles a day, yes. Yes, indeed. Yeah, yes. And I'm Chaldean, too. So just to let you know, I've been doing this. I used to hang out at four times.

02:32:36 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 4:

It's all country music. A Chaldean trucker that likes country music. You are a unicorn indeed. Listen, here, let's sing along. Here we go. I got friends in low places where the whiskey drowns And the bear chases my blues away Come on, Phillip. I can't hear you. Oh, I'm here.

02:33:01 - 02:33:01 | Unknown:

I'm here.

02:33:01 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 4:

I'll be okay. I'm not big on social grace. We love you, buddy. Habibi, am I supposed to say that?

02:33:12 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 7:

Habibi, yes, you are.

02:33:13 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 4:

Take care.

02:33:14 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 7:

All right, we'll get a quick update here.

02:33:41 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 4:

We'll see what's going on in the Dirty on the 30 with Shannon.

02:33:44 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 2:

The 2023 SAG Awards honored the best of film and TV last night. Did you know that it was on? It actually wasn't on TV. You didn't miss that. You had to stream it on Netflix's YouTube channel. But everything, everywhere, all at once took home. Best cast, best actress, best supporting actor, and best supporting actress. All the good words. Hollywood legend Sally Field receiving the SAG Lifetime Achievement Award. Her trophy was presented by her very hot, amazing Spider-Man co-star, Andrew Carfield. Love him. One of my favorites, and I know a fan favorite, Jennifer Coolidge, won the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for White Lotus.

02:34:20 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so they actually do the TV shows along with the movies.

02:34:23 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's the Actors Union, so it's all things involving actors.

02:34:27 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 1:

You know, you can give money to friends and do nice things for them, but, you know, and people love money, you know, and I do it whenever I can, you know, when your friends are broke, you can give money and stuff. But you know what people really, the best gift you can give someone is to change someone's perspective for the better. and view life in a different way, and that's what Mike White did for me. Creator of one of this.

02:34:49 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Pink is opening up a little bit more about why she had such a bad taste in her mouth about Christina Aguilera back in the day during the shoot for Lady Marmalade. She was talking...

02:35:00 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 7:

about this on chris wallace's cnn cnn excuse me show it's called who's talking at one point

02:35:07 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 4:

christina wanted to have a fight with you as to who was going to sing which part of the song if that had happened you would have kicked her ass not well maybe she was upset that i was sitting

02:35:16 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 2:

in her chair and so was going to shut down the entire production and i didn't know i was sitting in her chair i was homeless at 15 like i'm you can't talk to me any kind of way and so i've you know you picked the wrong one but that's over she was like don't disrespect me like that but

02:35:33 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 7:

she also said i've never heard chris wallace swear before i know pink also said that was back in the

02:35:39 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 2:

day it was a long time ago some people don't get along and then they figure it out and they realize what's important and they hug it out and they move on not everybody is supposed to like each other and that's okay and back then our personalities did not mix at all and then we hugged it out kissed it out, and we have many times since. You know what's interesting?

02:35:58 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 5:

That somebody's talking about Christina Aguilera on these days. What is she up to these days?

02:36:03 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 7:

Pink or Christina Aguilera? Christina Aguilera.

02:36:05 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 5:

No, Pink's got that big tour.

02:36:07 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 6:

At the Latin Grammys?

02:36:09 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 5:

She was doing the Latin Grammys? I'm pretty sure she was, right? Wowee. I don't remember. I don't know. I always love when it's like this morning in the 5 at 6.55, it was like, Australian Vogue was one of the questions about it.

02:36:23 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 6:

Well, because it was for Hailey Bieber.

02:36:24 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I know. But I'm like, so the Latin, well, they were-

02:36:27 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 6:

The Latin Grammys are huge.

02:36:29 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 5:

Are they? Does she have a new song or something? Or is she just presenting?

02:36:32 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 7:

Was her last album a Latin album? I think it was. Was it really? I think you're right. Yeah.

02:36:36 - 02:36:48 | Speaker 5:

She should have never left The Voice. I think that these guys leave these shows and then they become like, you know, even maybe more irrelevant than they wanted to be. Because she was hot at that time. I'm sorry.

02:36:48 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 7:

Go ahead. It's okay. It's okay. We can talk about it.

02:36:51 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 3:

You hate Christina Aguilera more than Pink hates Christina Aguilera.

02:36:55 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 7:

Paris Hilton recently welcomed a baby boy named Phoenix via surrogate with her husband, Carter Ream. But she said she's still waiting and wanting a potential daughter during the embryo freezing process. The couple has successfully frozen 20 embryos since they started doing this during the pandemic, all of which were boys. Paris said she just went through the process again a month ago, so now she's waiting for the results to see if there are any girls. Madonna's oldest brother, Anthony, has passed away. He was just 66 years old. I know that she was estranged from him, right? Yeah, they had a lot of struggles. I think the whole family was estranged from him.

02:37:35 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 1:

He was in Traverse City. Yeah, and he went missing a few times. He struggled with substance.

02:37:39 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 7:

He battled alcoholism. He was homeless, which is so sad at times. He once lived under a bridge. I remember her trying to help find him before and then she came out and kind of railed on Madonna and all of the other family members saying nobody cares about me. Nobody's taking care of me. But yeah, just said he passed away again, 66 years old. And real quick, SZA is set to release 10 unheard songs as part of a deluxe version of her album. She also recently hinted at a future collab with Miley Cyrus, teasing some future surprises for fans and hinting at this upcoming deluxe edition of the album. 02:38:37 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 1:

30 on the 30. Fox Cams. In War of the Roses, Mojo in the Morning.

02:38:43 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. Megan almost got into a car accident, and who she almost got in a car accident with probably would have gotten her even into more trouble than if she just hit a random car. What was it, Megan?

02:38:56 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, it wasn't a car accident. I was almost hit by a car.

02:38:59 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're almost hit by a car. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.

02:39:00 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. So you tell me who's in the wrong here, and please say that it's not me. But I may or may not have been jaywalking. And the answer is, of course I was. I was in downtown Toledo. I was crossing the street and I was trying to get to a bar. And I wasn't going to walk to the intersection. It was far down the block. I wasn't going to do it. And by far down the block, I mean probably 30 feet away. It was really close. So I'm jaywalking. And as I'm crossing the street, did I look both ways? No, of course I did not. But this car just comes like, coming around the corner. and I realize oh my god I'm about to be hit by a vehicle and as my eyes are like growing I see that it's a TBD car so it's the Toledo police and I'm thinking oh great I'm definitely gonna get a jaywalking ticket until I look up at the intersection and the lights and that police officer was running a red light without his lights or his siren on. So he's running a red light. I'm jaywalking. We both lock eyes and go, oh my god. Please don't hit me. And he's thinking, please don't hit her. And we're both thinking, we're both in the wrong here. And he turned on his dome lights and gave me a dirty look. Sir, you just ran a red light. You're not allowed to look dirty at me. I'm just a lowly pedestrian. I have, I'm just, I was innocent. I'm just a human being. You're not allowed to hit me with your car. Am I in the wrong? Because I was technically jaywalking.

02:40:37 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 1:

You're both in the wrong. But only one of you has a dome light on top of your car to get out of that.

02:40:44 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 3:

And while you could have gotten hit, I feel like what he was doing was way worse. He could have hit people.

02:40:50 - 02:40:59 | Speaker 6:

A little part of me was like, I could pay off my house. Megan, Nick. A little part of me was like, no more student loans.

02:41:00 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 2:

You'd finally get the city of Toledo to call you back for that flooding basement.

02:41:04 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, maybe I'd get my street finally redone. I don't know. Wade, if you want to call me.

02:41:09 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 2:

I always wonder about this. Do you guys do this? Because if you're in a city like Toledo or Grand Rapids or downtown even Royal Oak or whatever, if your store that you're going to is literally right there, but you've got to walk 500 feet or whatever it is. I don't know. I'm not good with feet. to go do a crosswalk, can't you just cross the street if there's nobody there to hit you?

02:41:35 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 3:

If I'm not with the kids, I do.

02:41:36 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:41:37 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 1:

It's illegal, but I do it.

02:41:39 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 2:

But has anybody ever gotten a ticket for jaywalking? That's what I was just going to ask.

02:41:42 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it is? Yes, they will write you a ticket. Really?

02:41:45 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Come on.

02:41:46 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Only in Birmingham do they do that. I got one in Chicago.

02:41:49 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 2:

Chicago? With all the crime going on in Chicago, people getting murdered on a daily basis there by the tens of thousands a year. I don't know, maybe not that much.

02:41:57 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 1:

Tell the officer that and see what that gets you.

02:42:00 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

I would think that those guys would, that would be like the last thing in the world that they would care about is a jaywalking situation.

02:42:06 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 1:

I think they'd rather stop and give me a ticket than have to go on that call for the crime. Well, definitely be safer, right? Right.

02:42:15 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

Megan, the Toledo Police TPD, is texting in saying that we love Megan.

02:42:21 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 6:

No, they're lying.

02:42:22 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 2:

They do. Why would they not love you? What is wrong with you to not love? Mojo in the morning. Oh, I lost you. That was actually somebody from somebody talking about the jaywalking thing. They got a jaywalking ticket. Adrienne, are you there? Yes. Hi. Did you get a ticket jaywalking?

02:42:40 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't get a ticket jaywalking, but I saw somebody get hit less than a half ago, downtown Toledo. And the person actually was stuck on top of the roof of the car and the car floored it. Yes.

02:42:56 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

02:42:56 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, where? Wait, what?

02:43:01 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 2:

So the person got hit, and they were on a roof of a car. That's a hell of an accident. Now she's listening to herself.

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 3:

They got hit and ended up on the roof? I'm not understanding her story.

02:43:14 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 2:

I think she's full of crap. Either that, or she was hit by one of those cars that was jaywalking.

02:43:22 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 5:

Did she hit the person?

02:43:23 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 2:

a couple of texters here say on college campuses are the only places you get tickets for jaywalking because the university police has nothing else to do it's interesting because then the next couple of texts afterwards is somebody that says i got a jaywalking ticket when i went to ferris um and then a couple other people here say only in certain towns can you get tickets for that Those are the same towns that actually do tickets for parking all the time. It is, by the way, crazy whenever you go to these towns where you park. And I have the app. Why doesn't that stupid app let me extend the app on my phone?

02:44:06 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 3:

I figured out a trick to this.

02:44:06 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 2:

Park Mobile or whatever it is.

02:44:08 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so add like Chelsea's car or Joe's car even.

02:44:13 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:44:13 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

Right, add like their car to your app, like their license plate number. And then when it just park their car there instead, you know what I mean? I'm saying like park there. Like you can click which, which car is in this spot now that I'm paying for, click their car and pay for another hour or two hours or whatever you need. Really? They don't check the actual car. So they might, but I, that's what I have been doing forever and ever watching. I'm going to get a ticket, but because I think when they drive by, they just want to see the green light and it's when they see the red light that they'll stop and get out of the car and check and ticket. Yeah.

02:44:46 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

David, what's up? hi David our phone our phone's below today the phones are bad you know like the phones have been a little lighter today I don't know maybe it's

02:45:00 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 1:

coming back after being away or something like that and us running back some best of and stuff last week. All right, we'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. Spike's phone scam, next.

02:45:12 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Now, number one for podcasts. Listen to the Mojo in the Morning show on iHeartRadio. And if you want to really have fun, listen to the More Mojo podcast. It's rated R fun with Mojo in the Morning.

02:45:28 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show is your home of the phone scams. Bruce is always the first to arrive to work. His coworkers want us to scam him. They've had some animals wandering in their garage before they will be taking the trucks out for the day.

02:46:03 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

02:46:17 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 2:

02:46:46 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 3:

They are open.

02:46:48 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 2:

Tommy and Little D say they are out here with us, and they said you were alone in there. I'm going to ask you to please not make any sudden movements because we believe it may be loose in the garage. Please stay still. Don't talk in a high, loud pitch because they're actually very frightened easily, and I don't want him to feel cornered. We are outside because it might be right at the door to the garage. That's the last place we've seen him.

02:47:17 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 3:

Wow, this is crazy. Are you guys serious?

02:47:19 - 02:47:29 | Speaker 2:

We are. Tommy gave me your number. He told me you were still in the building, and that's where we are concerned. We are going to try and collect the leopard. Where are you in the building now?

02:47:29 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm in the garage, actually.

02:47:31 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Please stay very still. Oh, he's in there now. They just saw him. Okay. Don't move. Freeze, okay? Don't talk very loud, okay? Okay. Do you have any food in or around your workstation? Yeah, yeah. We have a fridge right in here. Shh. Don't talk very loud. just be quiet and stay on the phone with me tell me immediately if you see something we're gonna walk in from the front door so if he is startled we'll run out the garage bay door okay are you still there with us bruce yeah i'm here okay please i don't mean to freak you out but please don't talk in a high pitch i don't want him to mistake you for prey you understand so please just talk very low, talk very, if you can, talk to a lower voice, okay?

02:48:22 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 3:

15 days, get this thing out of here.

02:48:23 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

We're gonna get him out just right quick. We're gonna come in from the front, drive him out the back. Stay very still, because I don't have my tranquilizer gun. We arrived here in a hurry. Okay, I think Vince is pointing at something out there in the garage, okay? Just be very still. Oh, my God. There he is. He looks more like a 400, 450 pounder. Don't move.

02:48:50 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm not doing a thing. It's crazy.

02:48:52 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. He is just looking around. He looks confused as could be. He is the largest I've ever seen. Okay, just stay very still. I want you to now, in a very low voice, just say, go, cat. Go away, cat. Make a deep voice sound so it might, you know, drive him towards the garage door.

02:49:15 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 3:

Go away, cat. Go, cat. You get rid of this guy. Lunch is on me.

02:49:21 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, lunch is going to be on your coworkers when you find out that they set you up for a phone scam. Oh, you guys. You guys. They said sometimes animals are wandering in your garage.

02:49:37 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a little critter is like a squirrel or something. But the biggest thing I ever saw was a raccoon. I'd love to see a leopard up close.

02:49:43 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 2:

No, you don't want to see a leopard too close.

02:49:46 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 1:

That's true. That's good stuff. Thank you, guys.

02:49:51 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. You're home with the phones. This is Mojo in the Morning Show. You've just been phone scammed, sugar. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:12 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. You know those people that when they get drunk, they like to touch everything that is breakable? I was hanging out with one of them last week, and his name is Paul, and he's a very good friend and he's probably going to be upset for me for talking about this but Paul is one of those guys, first off, that is a grown man that likes to drink fireball shots I know, but you know what's funny I found myself Mike drinking them with him I'll try it once, but he bought one of those party tubs, have you ever seen those at all before at the party store it's basically a Mike, it's a party tub that looks like, you know you ever have a party for the kids and you go get the ice cream at Meijer, and it's the big, humongous thing of ice cream that's there, like vanilla ice cream or whatever, and it's in a tub. That's what the party tub is, but it's loaded with a bunch of fireball shots. Matter of fact, hold on. I actually took a picture of the tub. Let me see how many shots it says on there that are in this thing. A bucket of regret. It contains 20 50-milliliter bottles. And by the way, this is the real fireball. Remember that story we did about fake fireball? Like there wasn't whiskey in the thing? So Paul was drinking away at this, and he was having other cocktails too. And he just starts touching things. And every time he goes and starts touching things, I'm standing next to him like with my hands out waiting for something. He goes and picks up. So we're in this place. He goes and picks up a glass like decorative thing that was on like a counter that they had there.

02:51:56 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 2:

And he picks it up, and he goes, it looks like a telephone. And he picks the thing up, and it slips right out of his hands.

02:52:01 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:52:01 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 2:

And just falls right to the ground and just breaks it. Yes, right. Yeah. And one night, he broke this. Then we had pizza. He spilled pizza on white furniture. So he spilled pizza on, like, a white chair that was there. It was like, which, by the way, you shouldn't be eating pizza over on white chairs. They shouldn't have pizza available around white chairs. but spilled it on white chairs and i think when he was leaving put a dent in drywall while he was leaving um do you do you have people do you know people that uh that are total hazards when it comes to them drinking too much like what i'd love to know from our listeners what's the most expensive thing that you had broken when you were drunk 844 mojo live 844 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Because if you're somebody that is drinking a little bit too much, like we were all together at the Marriott Troy Hotel bar.

02:53:06 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:53:07 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 2:

And that could have been a dangerous thing because there was a lot of breakable things by us.

02:53:12 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 1:

I mean, we were all sitting, and you said we were all together, meaning the show. The whole show, yeah. The whole show was together on Saturday night. We were. We were sitting in an area that had a few couches and love seats and stools in front of a fireplace. But on either side of that fireplace were a bunch of shelves that had breakable, I don't know, my grandma would call them knick-knacks. Knick-knacks. Yes. Knick-knacks. Knick-knack paddy works.

02:53:35 - 02:53:37 | Speaker 3:

More things to dust on the shelf.

02:53:37 - 02:53:37 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:53:39 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 3:

That could have been bad. That could have been really bad.

02:53:41 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 1:

But we were all very, very good.

02:53:42 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 3:

The worst is like if I'm a designated driver helping my buddies out for the night. and they're like, can we stop for, you know, get some quick pizza on the way home or something or they get some gas station chicken. And I go, okay, I'll run in and get it. And they're like, well, and then somebody wants to run in and get smoked. Somebody wants to run in and get beef jerky. Next thing you know, there's six drunk idiots fumbling around the party store and they're all picking up glass bottles of booze. And you're like, put that down. I'm not paying for that. Put that down. That's kettle one. That's expensive. You don't need any more vodka. You need sobriety. And now I'm like, I'm running around like, Yeah, they're like little baby chicks that you're trying to get back into the pen.

02:54:16 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 2:

I am the designated driver and the designated buyer. Yeah.

02:54:20 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 3:

Guess who's going to pay if you idiots knock that out. Exactly.

02:54:23 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 1:

It is so funny because I equate that to it's the same as being a parent and taking your kids into like a Hallmark-y type store. And I always have to tell Smith, you put your hands in your pockets. Do not touch anything. Nothing. Just breathe and walk behind me. It's the same thing with a bunch of drunk idiots in a liquor store.

02:54:43 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

The funny thing is, when these friends of yours that do this breaking of stuff like that, you are almost better off just staying away and letting them take the blame for it because people let drunk people get away with it. You know what I mean? They don't let parents get away with it with their kids, it seems like.

02:55:00 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 4:

Like, as much as they let drunk Paul getting away with it. And his poor wife, his poor wife, like, the moment that this thing broke, his wife was online trying to find a replacement for it because she felt like she needed to pay back for it. What's up, Josh? How you doing?

02:55:18 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

02:55:19 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's the most expensive thing that you broke when you were drunk?

02:55:24 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 3:

So, my buddy's window. I lived in a trailer, and I went outside to relieve myself, and I couldn't hear him. So I guess my solution to that was to put my head through the window and continue to go about my way, because the window was right where the dining room table was. I think we were playing Kings or something. So yeah, I just let it rip through the window And didn't think anything about it Didn't know about it The next morning I wake up And I'm like, man, what happened to your window, dude? He's like, what are you freaking talking about That you happened to my window?

02:56:09 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 1:

You don't even remember

02:56:10 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 4:

Does it scratch you up? Like, did you get caught up by doing that? Because I always wondered if people like, you know Walking through like a window or whatever putting their fists through a window if that hurts them.

02:56:20 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 3:

I was fine. Yeah, completely fine. Not a scratch on me. Isn't that amazing? It was pretty crazy. But yeah, immediately I was like, oh man, let's go to the ATM. Let's get this. How much does a window

02:56:32 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 4:

on a trailer cost? What does that cost? I think it was

02:56:36 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 3:

like we got a pain for like 225 bucks. We were able to put it in. So we were both pretty handy, fortunately. It wasn't no big deal. You know the beauty of it? He gave us a chance to go out for breakfast the next day and do

02:56:48 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 4:

a project. Waffle House? Did you do Waffle House? Because that's always the place to go.

02:56:52 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 3:

I think we probably hit up Frisch's because it was right there by the place, man. It's just bottom barrel food. If I knew

02:56:58 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 4:

it only cost $220 to replace a window, I would for fun when I was drunk. Probably not in your house, dude. No, but I'm talking about it. I'm talking about I was at a buddy's trailer. I would literally poke my head through and say, anybody need anything outside? I would literally just do it.

02:57:12 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 1:

No, but that's what you do in the labor. These guys put it in themselves. Right. Yeah. Yeah, you wouldn't be doing the labor on that.

02:57:17 - 02:57:26 | Speaker 4:

You better believe I wouldn't. And by the way, if I can ever hang out with a bunch of guys that are drunk enough to not feel it going through a window, you've got to hang out with me. All right?

02:57:26 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a good time, man. We're all good people, and we laugh about stuff like this. It's no biggie. We take care of each other. Love you for that. Take care of each other for you guys, too. Thanks, bud. Have a good one. Take care.

02:57:36 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 1:

Something about that drunk strength that people don't even remember, like falling off the balcony into the bushes and stuff. When you're drunk, you're loose and limber. You don't feel the pain the next day

02:57:45 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 4:

Listen to what Hannah did drunk What was the biggest thing You damaged when you were drunk

02:57:51 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 2:

It's been A few years now but I fell asleep in my parents Back tub upstairs And left the water running For hours And it overflowed To the main floor Ruined the couches, ruined the flooring And ruined my mom's house And thank God that you are alive. Yeah, my dad, it was horrible. It was my birthday. My dad found me butt naked.

02:58:18 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Oh, you're right, Shannon. She could have drowned.

02:58:23 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 2:

He thought my sister drugged me.

02:58:26 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. Wait, wait. Oh, really? Wait a second, stop. Is there, like, a little disgruntled family business?

02:58:33 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, I mean, I was 17. It was 17 years ago now, but it was horrible.

02:58:39 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 4:

What were you drinking? Fireball?

02:58:41 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, listen, this is the worst part. I obviously had too much fun this weekend because I have no voice. But it was come back a vodka. Like, it was worse than 5 o'clock. Like, we, like, they misheard, got the cheapest vodka, and it was disgusting.

02:58:56 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 4:

That headache must have been horrible. Does anybody like the taste of fireball?

02:59:00 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't mind it. Yeah. I don't know that I would say I like it, but I don't mind it.

02:59:06 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 1:

Some people like the hot cinnamon to disguise the whiskey taste for people who aren't brown liquor drinkers.

02:59:10 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 2:

Right, because I'm not a whiskey.

02:59:11 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 4:

I didn't even know it was whiskey until we did that story a couple weeks ago that it was whiskey. I always thought it was just like a, I don't know, like a schnapps or something.

02:59:18 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 2:

Like a Sambuca type of drink.

02:59:20 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like a...

02:59:20 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 2:

You need to try Fire Jack, though. Fire Jack?

02:59:25 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I do like Fire Jack, yeah. Is that like the... Jack Daniels. You grow up to Fire Jacks from Fireballs?

02:59:32 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 1:

It's their version of the hot cinnamon whiskey. It's really good.

02:59:34 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Those are things that I drink.

02:59:36 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm a legal adult and can buy it myself now, yes.

02:59:39 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 3:

Stay out of a tub. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

02:59:44 - 02:59:54 | Speaker 4:

Why you're not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out right now. So, Nick not calling back. Taylor, how you doing?

02:59:57 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Well, you know, it could be better.

03:00:00 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so you went on a date, and you're not getting a call back. But there was something that you did on this date that I got to tell you, I don't think you should have done. And Nick's going to tell us about it right now. Nick, are you there?

03:00:16 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing?

03:00:17 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 1:

Good. Say hello, Nick, to Taylor.

03:00:21 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

03:00:24 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Nick. How you doing? You know, just, like, curious why we're not going on that second date, you know?

03:00:37 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 1:

So, Nick, you told our producer about the date. And when she told us about this, I'm like, we got to get these guys on the air. Will you tell the listeners what Taylor brought with her on this date?

03:00:54 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, Taylor, she brought her friend Amanda. On the date

03:01:01 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 1:

And she wasn't She wasn't invited right

03:01:06 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 5:

No no it was supposed to be Just the two of us

03:01:10 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 2:

What was the reason Taylor was it for security or you were Just out with her already or Why bring a

03:01:17 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 5:

Friend I mean I don't understand Why this is weird At all it's not like we met before We've only been messaging on Facebook And you know how dare I make sure that i'm safe just in case you know he's an act murderer okay no we agree with you wanting

03:01:33 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 2:

to be safe but shouldn't you mention that because i think a date implies one plus one hanging out

03:01:38 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 5:

together well it's not like we said that in so many words you know it's also important for people to meet my friends like you know i'm just trying to start slow i didn't think it was weird at all

03:01:49 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 1:

okay so i think let's get sorry let's paint a picture for us so you went and picked her up Nick or did you guys meet out

03:01:59 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 2:

No we met out And she showed up with her friend So you show up

03:02:06 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 1:

And you're sitting at the table Or you walk up to the table And they're there

03:02:11 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 2:

No we met out front And there was like two of them Okay And then we went

03:02:20 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah it was super weird

03:02:21 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 1:

But do you have to bring somebody with you If you're in a public place I mean I get the idea that you want safety And women definitely And men should have safety when they're going on a date But if you're in a public place Do you have to bring another person with And if you do bring another person with Like in Taylor's case Shouldn't you have to say something

03:02:41 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 3:

Like I'm inviting Yes That is an awkward situation to walk into

03:02:47 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 1:

Taylor have you done this before Totally What kind of reaction did you get from other people that you've gone out with?

03:02:58 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it's just like a group hang. It's not weird at all.

03:03:01 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, but it wasn't a group hang. It was a date.

03:03:03 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 3:

That wasn't the expectation. Right. I think that, I mean, and this is my personal opinion, but I think that, like, you and Nick need to get to know each other first and then kind of bring friends into the mix of getting to know you guys. Right?

03:03:21 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 1:

Here's the question. When you go on a date and you're expecting that your date is with one person, can you bring a friend with without even mentioning it to the person that you're going on a date with? And that's what Taylor did. And I'd love to ask this question, too. What did somebody bring with them on the date that was just, like, really strange? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Nick, what did you think of Taylor's friend? And what was Taylor's friend's name?

03:03:55 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Amanda.

03:03:55 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 1:

Amanda. What did you think? Who did you like better, Amanda or Taylor?

03:03:59 - 03:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, that could also happen. Right? Well, I don't know.

03:04:03 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 2:

I ended up paying for both of them. Well, that was my next question. That was my next question. I was going to ask who paid because that's another implication of bringing a third person to the date. Like, there's expectations there, isn't there?

03:04:17 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Nobody's forced you to do that.

03:04:19 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 2:

But did you offer Taylor? Did you say she's going to pay for her stuff?

03:04:25 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 5:

I mean, he offered first, and we were like, okay, thanks.

03:04:30 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Let me grab Jill here. Jill, what did you want to say? Second date update?

03:04:34 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I think this is a little bit weird. If it was a group hang, then she should have said something, and he probably would have brought a friend too. But to invite your friend on the date is a little bit weird. She could have just sat at a bar or at another table.

03:04:47 - 03:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Don't you think it would have been weird if he showed up with another dude? You know what I mean? Yeah, without saying anything. Yeah. Like, I get the idea that you want to be safe, and safety is definitely for both. But. A thousand percent. If a guy, if a guy, all of a sudden two guys show up at the date, you're like, what is going on here? You feel like you're being taken advantage of.

03:05:06 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Right. I would feel even more weird at that point. Like, what is going on? She could have just had her friend sit at the bar that when something happened, she's right there. Right. Or let him know. And then he would have brought a friend, too. And then it would have been awkward.

03:05:21 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 1:

Marilyn, what's going on? Second date update.

03:05:24 - 03:05:44 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I think she was just a little obvious about it. Like, for example, when I was in high school, I went on a date, and it was at a movie theater. So I just had my friend and her other friend be, like, at another movie, but at the same theater. That was just in case anything happened. You know, she was there. But I think Taylor was a little bit obvious about how she did it, and it was kind of imposing for Nick.

03:05:45 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, it seems very obvious and very awkward. Sam?

03:05:50 - 03:06:04 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm just kind of curious. Like, you're not comfortable hanging out, like, one-on-one yet because you're getting to know each other. Why wouldn't you just suggest, like, hey, like, let's get a couple of friends together. I'll hang out. Yeah. Like, if they hit it off. It's a great idea. Ask for a one-on-one.

03:06:04 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever done that?

03:06:06 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 6:

I have, yeah. And it worked out. I'm married to the guy. Oh, that's cool. Come on now.

03:06:11 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 1:

I would be afraid because most of my friends are better looking than me. So I would be afraid that that would actually turn whoever I'm going on a date with off. But I could see where that would be.

03:06:23 - 03:06:36 | Speaker 8:

That's actually another great topic is did you ever, like, double date, you know, for a first date or even, you know, first couple of dates, and it turns out that the guy that you were dating liked your friend more than you, you know?

03:06:36 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 1:

Always a risk. Yeah, that would be bad. Mojo in the morning, hello. Oh, God, that phone line is. That is a little kind of rough, huh? That sounds, that doesn't sound very yummy. What's going on, Mojo in the morning? Therapist Jen is on with us. Hi, Jen. Hey, guys. Hi. How are you doing, Jen? Give us your professional opinion on this.

03:06:58 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 2:

I have a good feeling that the girls thought it would be funny, and, you know, let's see how he reacts. And maybe it was last minute, like, you should just come. Yeah, just come. Are you serious? You know, and they had this whole conversation. Really? I thought it was kind of fun.

03:07:12 - 03:07:13 | Speaker 1:

How did you get that? I didn't get that at all.

03:07:14 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I just got a good feeling because, you know, that's just really socially, you know, awkward. No one does that without saying, hey, I'm going to bring my friend or my, you know, it's just too strange that she, I feel like the girls thought, hey, you know, maybe she said last second, like, just come. I don't think it was this long, drawn-out plan, but I have a feeling that it was last second and she said, just come, and they were curious how he'd react.

03:07:36 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Are you friends with her and you're just trying to make her, or is this a patient or a client of yours?

03:07:42 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 2:

That's my gut feeling And then they wanted to see how he'd react And of course he'd want a second date Because he was awesome about it

03:07:50 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 1:

Josh, you actually had this happen to you

03:07:53 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Hello Yeah, I've had this happen to me But I actually Met this girl at the restaurant that I was working at And then I asked her out And then when I went out on the date with her Her friend was with her And I was like, oh, well, that's interesting I was, you know, patient And the date went extremely well And she said, well, actually, you know We both wanted to be with you And so then we went back to my place

03:08:23 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 1:

I would like to have a threesome with you And another girl you trust Does that excite you at all or no?

03:08:29 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's like the best And then there was a second date And they'd, you know, come to work And I actually got to go home early Because they, you know, showed up to work and was like, hey, we want to take him home. You must be very good-looking.

03:08:44 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 1:

That stuff only happens to good-looking guys. What's up? That only happens to good-looking guys. What celebrity do you look like?

03:08:53 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Napoleon Dynamite. No, come on.

03:08:55 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 1:

You're so full of it. You're full of it. Thank you for the call. I appreciate that. Yeah. Can you imagine your first date? She brings another friend, and next thing you know, you guys are having fun. We asked the question of what's the strangest thing somebody's ever brought on a date. Amy, what did they bring on the date?

03:09:13 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 5:

Hi there. Now, this was like 30 years ago. This was a really long time ago. And I met up with this guy at a bar. We had planned to meet, like, with friends. And he was really great. He was a nice guy. And, like, we started talking about how we both loved animals. And he had a hamster in his pocket.

03:09:31 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 8:

What?

03:09:33 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 1:

And that's not a euphemism. You really mean he had an actual hamster in his pocket.

03:09:36 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 5:

I really mean that he had a hamster in his pocket. Like, who brings a hamster to a bar like this?

03:09:44 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I like how you said this happened 30 years ago. Like, you had to lay the groundwork down that only weird people were around 30 years ago. I think.

03:09:52 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but you guys also remember, like, I don't want to get it. But, like, there were rumors about men with hamsters. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's where.

03:10:00 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 3:

That was at the peak of that. Oh, okay. It worked. Interesting. It was trying to freak me out.

03:10:06 - 03:10:12 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of that, remember it was always the Richard Gere was the rumor. Did you hear the story that he's like on death's door right now?

03:10:13 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Richard Gere?

03:10:13 - 03:10:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there was a rumor over the weekend that Richard Gere is like really, really sick. Really? Yeah, Google it. I am right now. I saw that somewhere that Richard Gere was like really not well.

03:10:25 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 2:

He's hospitalized in... Pneumonia. Yeah, in Mexico.

03:10:28 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:10:29 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

03:10:30 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 4:

So, all right, second date update. If you are not getting a call back from somebody you went on a date with, text DATE to 95500. We'll get you on a future show. All right, top trending stories, a couple big stories here in the news. The Supreme Court's going to begin hearing the case tomorrow that could lead to you having your college bills paid for. And I say you because I'm a dumb radio DJ. I went to three and a half years of college. I already paid for my college, so I'm out of this whole deal. I get nothing out of this. I didn't even graduate, and I just had to pay bills. But this is the story from ABC.

03:11:07 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 3:

The financial futures of up to 43 million eligible student loan borrowers are in the state of uncertainty as the Supreme Court prepares to hear two challenges to President Biden's controversial campaign promise, federal student loan forgiveness.

03:11:21 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 1:

It's not everything, but it would certainly help a lot and relieve a lot of that burden.

03:11:24 - 03:11:28 | Speaker 4:

People knew what they were doing when they signed it, and they should pay it off.

03:11:28 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 3:

About one in six adults in the U.S. holds federal student loan debt, $1.6 trillion and rising, the White House says. But their plan would grant up to $20,000 in federal debt relief to student borrowers who make less than $125,000 a year. The latest Quinnipiac poll shows 53% of Americans approve of the plan, while 43% are against it. Like master's graduate Lissa Pedanotti, the mother of three, wants the courts to permanently end Biden's plan. She says she borrowed $80,000 and paid it off within seven years, and others should do the same. Did anybody help you pay them off?

03:12:05 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 1:

Nope, I paid them. Because that's how I was raised. I mean, I was raised that you get an education and you get a job.

03:12:15 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 4:

Do you think that they would have more support of it if they were to say to people, hey, if you already paid off your student debt, then you can get a retroactive?

03:12:24 - 03:12:29 | Speaker 2:

Of course, yeah. Well, that's what all these people are like, well, I had to pay. Why don't they, though?

03:12:29 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 4:

Then why don't they do that?

03:12:31 - 03:12:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, we didn't have –

03:12:33 - 03:12:34 | Speaker 4:

It would be nice to not have to –

03:12:34 - 03:12:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't feel like college costs the same for us as it did 30 years later, and I don't think that the interest rates were the same that they are today. It's just crazy that people will spend 20 years paying off college education. That's where I'm at right now. Why do we do that?

03:12:50 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Many people, by the way, that are getting ready to go to college are saying that they're not going to pay, thinking that it's going to happen. But the court case, by the way, the Supreme Court will hear this starting tomorrow. It quite possibly could take them a week to hear the entire case. So there wouldn't be a ruling until afterwards. If they were to rule on it and if they were to say that they're going to overturn the lower court that said that, you know, that it was unconstitutional to do this, it wouldn't go into effect until June, though. A couple of crazy local stories to bring up to you. Shannon, you touched upon this earlier this morning, but I actually have a news story from WTOL talking about how they tried to secretly bring some of the East Palestine water to bring to Michigan and Texas.

03:13:48 - 03:13:49 | Speaker 2:

And soil, too.

03:13:49 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 4:

And soil, not telling anybody about it. until it actually got leaked out by some of the people that worked for the company that was doing the delivery that said, hey, wait a second. I don't know if people in these states, these other two states, Michigan and Texas, can you imagine they're taking it all the way from Ohio to Texas?

03:14:09 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what's funny? And then in retrospect, when the reporters started going after this story, it wasn't a secret. Governor DeWine's office put it in a press conference, in his press release. It was a secret, though, to Michigan lawmakers.

03:14:21 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 1:

I thought he said in a statement that he was unaware of where it was being shipped out to.

03:14:25 - 03:15:12 | Speaker 2:

So I just pulled up the press release from his office, and he did say going to the U.S. Ecology Wayne Disposal, a hazardous facility in Michigan. And that was on February 23rd. So I think it just got out, and then finally people are paying attention to it, and our Michigan lawmakers got the press. The railroad will be able to restart shipments tomorrow. On Sunday, the EPA identified two new sites in Ohio where they plan to continue shipping waste to after 15 truckloads of hazardous solid waste from East Palestine were disposed. of in Bellevue and Romulus, Michigan, waste treatment and disposal facilities. Michigan Republican State Representative Jamie Thompson says the disposal blindsided her and her colleagues.

03:15:12 - 03:15:25 | Speaker 1:

That was never brought to our attention at all. It was just done. And then when we found out it was done, we were told in the legislature that the EPA took control of it. They paused it.

03:15:25 - 03:15:36 | Speaker 2:

She says around 100 people showed up, including other Republican leaders outside of the site at Romulus today. Everyone was asking for answers and highlighting safety concerns.

03:15:36 - 03:16:02 | Speaker 1:

That the containers of the liquid toxin cleanup are still at the facility in Romulus. And just because it's been paused doesn't mean that it couldn't change or where is it going to go from there. You don't just, you know, drop thousands and thousands of gallons of contaminated water from a toxic explosion that, yeah, we're really, we're really frustrated.

03:16:03 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 2:

Thompson wishes the situation would have been handled differently with residents getting notifications earlier. She fears the contamination is already there and hopes to get more answers this week. Solid waste will be shipped to East Liverpool and liquid waste to Vickery, Ohio, starting tomorrow, too. Reporting in studio.

03:16:20 - 03:16:28 | Speaker 5:

That's interesting. So there still is some of the delivery that was sent to Michigan is still there as of that report yesterday.

03:16:28 - 03:16:43 | Speaker 4:

In this in this state, there are so many there's so much hazard material that is brought into Michigan from all over the U.S. and Canada because it's such big business for these plants here that it's like a private company that makes money taking all these toxic chemicals.

03:16:43 - 03:16:53 | Speaker 5:

You fast food lover, and listen up, what do you think are the two fast food establishments that are the worst bang for your buck?

03:16:54 - 03:16:55 | Speaker 1:

Fast food?

03:16:55 - 03:17:03 | Speaker 5:

Fast food, yes. Which, actually, not in the top two, but in this top ten, Chick-fil-A.

03:17:03 - 03:17:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, we were talking this weekend about Shake Shack. Wait, Chick-fil-A is one of them?

03:17:06 - 03:17:08 | Speaker 5:

Shake Shack is on there. So expensive. What other one were you going to say, Shannon?

03:17:10 - 03:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, no. Oh, I thought you had one. Yeah, no.

03:17:13 - 03:17:15 | Speaker 5:

Shake Shack and Panera bread.

03:17:15 - 03:17:19 | Speaker 1:

Panera is so expensive. It's so expensive.

03:17:19 - 03:17:30 | Speaker 5:

The cost on average is $13.30 per meal at Shake Shack, while Panera costs $14.76 on average per meal. No way.

03:17:30 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 1:

It's got to be more than that.

03:17:31 - 03:18:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Ellie and I got us two salads and soup yesterday. That was it. It was $50. Data shows that Chick-fil-A followed Shake Shack and Panera, even though it's interesting that Chick-fil-A clocked in number three on the dissatisfaction list. It also was the lowest average meal price at $8.74. So people were dissatisfied with the price of it. It actually was one of the least expensive places to go eat. Panda Express, Chipotle, that's a big one. wendy's taco bell and mcdonald's all were in that top 10 uh speaking of trying to save money here's one for you and i'll end on this one a cheapskate from michigan was just recently on one of those tlc shows what's that show called the which one well it's the tlc show that is hold on i'll get it for you it's about cheapskates yeah it's uh it's one of those you know it's one of those shows that uh is it called extreme cheapskates extreme yeah there you go okay

03:18:36 - 03:18:45 | Speaker 4:

i literally just googled the tlc show about oh my gosh here's a tip for you if anyone ever knocks on your door says can we record you for extreme no this guy wants to be on there

03:18:45 - 03:19:25 | Speaker 5:

really yeah he earns 95 000 a year as a train driver and he shared several hacks that he uses to save money one of which is his home is completely covered in plastic to keep the resale value high he also uses a jacuzzi to bathe in and he heats up his food and cleans his clothes in that same jacuzzi the guy stores all the guy the guy stores all of his belongings including his plastic bottles his clothes as well as other materials in his refrigerator or freezer for space purposes, and also for monetary purposes.

03:19:26 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, right now, I've got some clothes in Ziploc bags. I don't have to put them in the washing machine. It actually kills the bacteria by having them in here. That way, I save on laundry detergent. I save on time. I don't have to use electricity to run my washing machine. I've had clothes since high school. Can you believe that? Okay, this is a pair of jeans. Okay, this pair here. Man, it all comes back in fashion. I bought these 15 years ago. Look at that, like brand new. Yeah, it's like I just bought them.

03:20:00 - 03:20:13 | Speaker 2:

The average refrigerator uses around 350 kilowatts of electricity per year. By tightly packing his fridge with clothes, cookware, and canned goods, Todd cuts his energy use by nearly 10%.

03:20:13 - 03:20:21 | Speaker 8:

The refrigerator doesn't cycle on as much, and it doesn't produce or consume as much electricity. Just pack up your fridge with anything you can find.

03:20:21 - 03:20:30 | Speaker 7:

I don't care. I don't care that some people might think that some of my habits are over the top now. I mean, I got clothes in my refrigerator for God's sake. I mean, that's pretty cheap.

03:20:30 - 03:20:49 | Speaker 10:

Todd saves $30 to $40 a year by doing that, by packing up his refrigerator and actually washing his clothes in his jacuzzi. He says another life hack is he goes to the store to buy expired fish and meat from the grocery store, which he says saves him $900 a year.

03:20:50 - 03:20:51 | Speaker 6:

Does that include the hospital visit?

03:20:53 - 03:20:59 | Speaker 10:

Todd, by the way, has a woman in his life, too. So people might not think that he has a woman in his life. Is it my mom?

03:20:59 - 03:21:00 | Speaker 6:

Because she's pretty cheap.

03:21:01 - 03:21:04 | Speaker 10:

What was it your mom used to do? She used to cut straws, right?

03:21:04 - 03:21:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, everything. She would do everything. Yeah, your favorite example, she would steal the McDonald's straws, then cut them in half, and we would use them for our entire childhood. She would wash them out, and they'd taste like Dawn dish detergent. Half a straw.

03:21:18 - 03:21:37 | Speaker 10:

All right, that does it for today. Have a great one. If you missed any portion of today's show, including the War of the Rose, no, we didn't do that today, phone scam, The second date update, which obviously you just heard, so you don't even need to worry about that anymore. Conversations that we had, including a party recap from the weekend. All of us being at Lydia's party.

03:21:38 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 4:

I have some beautiful white roses. That's right.

03:21:40 - 03:21:55 | Speaker 10:

Shannon getting chastised by the listeners for stealing party favors. My son getting locked out on vacation for sneaking out. What else? Mike not knowing what his neighbor does.

03:21:55 - 03:21:57 | Speaker 9:

Oh, me not introducing Wes to the tequila guy.
