I have type 2 diabetes, but I manage it well. It's a little pill with a big story to tell. I take one's daily Jardians at each day's start.

00:01:44 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 2:

And for adults with type 2 diabetes and known heart disease, Jardians can lower the risk of cardiovascular death too. Prescription Jardians, Empagliflozin, 10 or 25 milligram tablets, are used to lower blood sugar along with diet and exercise in adults with type 2 diabetes. Jardians is not for use to lower blood sugar in people with type 1 diabetes and not for people with type 2 diabetes who have severe kidney disease. Serious side effects include increased ketones in blood or urine and infection between and around the anus and genitals. Both may be fatal. Severe allergic reactions, dehydration, urinary tract or genital yeast infections in men and women and low blood sugar. Stop taking and tell your doctor right away if you have nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, rash, swelling, trouble breathing or swallowing. Tell your doctor about lightheadedness, weakness, fever, pain, tenderness, redness, or swelling between the anus and genitals. You may have increased risk for lower limb loss. Call your doctor right away if you have new pain or tenderness, sores, ulcers, or infection in your legs or feet. To learn more about Jardians 10 or 25 milligram tablets, ask your doctor, visit Jardians.com, or call 1-888-968-6648.

00:05:44 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

meetings um about digital stuff and he taught me all about our cameras in our studio and i'm so excited to come back like literally i have the jitters about coming back and getting it all set

00:05:54 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

of them like nerding out on it a little bit any word that can we get them x-ray vision so that people can see what color underwear we're all wearing that is uh probably not good with hr but i will ask him if for you so so can i tell you that uh i i flew out late last night so he took a six uh something flight landed at 9 20 and so it was a stupid idea i don't know why i was surprised when i saw how late you left it was it was you know what i did it spike i did it because it was

00:06:25 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 2:

a hundred dollars cheaper yeah than to fly out at noon i'm just going through that right now planning like to visit my parents at easter and i really i'm like what am i doing i'm to save a hundred dollars i'm flying in at like five in the morning yeah i mean i justify it like well we get up for work we're early and and i'm like what am i doing on easter i'm gonna be falling asleep in

00:06:45 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 1:

church but it was such a great flight because a it's a late flight and everybody's drinking so it was like you know how the flight is guys when we go to the iheart festival in vegas yeah

00:06:57 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

you're probably the only one flying to florida who's not going on vacation it well and and i'm

00:07:02 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

also the only one in florida or flying to florida that was that had to wake up at 3 30 in the morning yeah you know so everybody's drinking everybody's partying mojo in the morning listeners going crazy i have i had more people tell me to say hi to every one of you guys it was crazy like you know oh my god and then i was going with um i'm with my our boss uh tony and uh tony tony was literally like the last row of the plane so i waited outside i looked like that guy that was standing there trying to to have say hi to everybody like the greeter because i was right outside the gate like sitting there talking to everybody and um and so the craziest is when you come you know and you do the whole you know flying and and all that stuff these people all are going on vacation getting away from the snow and the big thing that everybody kept telling me and i just heard shannon do a report just a second ago on channel 955 they are all like cannot believe how much snow that we're supposedly getting tomorrow. And I don't even think that tomorrow's snow is going to even be close to what we had last week, right? Am I right or am I right?

00:08:13 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 3:

Or wrong? No, well, no, it's not going to be as much. Is that what you mean? Yeah, it's not going to be as much. I mean, four to eight inches.

00:08:20 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you should hear. There was one lady, I think her name was Dawn, she was from Livonia. We're getting 33 inches.

00:08:28 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no. I mean, the snow is going to start tonight in the Detroit area. We'll have maybe two inches on the ground by the morning commute tomorrow, and then we'll get another couple of inches like through the afternoon i wish that honestly i wish that

00:08:38 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 1:

most of the people that i heard talking about the snow yesterday were talking about the size of the other man of man exactly i know exaggerate to that length with stuff so um but uh yeah it's gonna be a really busy time so came in uh you know today gonna go to the game today and tomorrow And then I'm flying to Chicago to meet up with Megan and EJ, our old producer, Ellen. And so it's going to be kind of a whirlwind. Megan, you got a busy one. You're actually busy tonight too, right?

00:09:10 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm so busy this week. It's not even funny, you guys. And as somebody who loves Netflix and apps, it's not been my week.

00:09:18 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 1:

I kind of like this. You're out of the house and you're doing things.

00:09:22 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I don't like that I haven't really slept in four days. And I don't feel like I have my life in order whatsoever because tonight I'm actually presenting an award at the American Advertising Awards, which has taken place at the summit. And I'm really excited. But I kind of realized a couple of things. A, I'm very tired. I have not slept in probably four days. Not to brag, but for like the last three days I've been here until 7 o'clock or later. I have not had a life. and I'm really worried because I actually, funny enough, even though I do this for a living, I hate public speaking.

00:10:00 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

I get so nervous. I get so stressed out. There's a difference between sitting in a room alone talking to my friends and talking to strangers. This to me is like a huge leap to being public speaking. And the whole thing is apparently business casual. I work in radio. I have no idea what that actually means.

00:10:19 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:10:19 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what I'm doing. And I think I'm going to curse. And I'm very stressed out about that.

00:10:24 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because if it's at night, you're tired. You might have a drink. and the next thing you know, you're on the microphone forgetting who you're talking to.

00:10:30 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. Wait, so what are you going to wear? I don't know. I don't know. Somebody said jeans, heels, and a blazer was acceptable, but I feel like jeans are not acceptable. For it to present? Yeah, because I don't... I wouldn't wear jeans if you're presenting. I don't own dress pants. You all know I don't own dress pants. So what am I going to wear? A pair of overalls?

00:10:47 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 1:

You wear jeans with a jacket. It always looks cool when people...

00:10:51 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

Like, Chad, you did that to Lydia's graduation party.

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

But she's presenting an award.

00:10:56 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I feel like that's business casual. You're in radio.

00:10:59 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

I feel like if you wear some heeled booties or something with the jeans, then it's okay. The shoes are what make it dressier. Your jewelry.

00:11:06 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 1:

I blame it on... I feel like people in radio and garbage truck drivers can get away with whatever they're wearing.

00:11:14 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

That is very true. You know? That is very true.

00:11:17 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 4:

Am I still in yesterday's makeup? Maybe.

00:11:21 - 00:11:21 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:11:21 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Just layer it. Layer the new stuff on top. Some dry shampoo. You're good.

00:11:27 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 4:

Is there seven layers of hairspray and dry shampoo in my hair right now? Maybe.

00:11:32 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 1:

I'd love if any of our listeners ever went somewhere and they were either way underdressed or way overdressed. You'll have to call us up and tell us. But I found out some details yesterday, by the way, about the guy that Megan's going to be meeting this weekend. Oh, dang. How?

00:11:47 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Don't talk to Ellen. You're not allowed to talk to her. Stop. Why do you know everything?

00:11:51 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, so Ellen and I talked yesterday about this weekend because it sounds to me like she's making this like a big time party. Like there's like, we're going to this person's house at this time. We're going to this person's house at this time. And I'm going, can't we just stay at one of the houses? Oh, that's the best. It's a strolling party.

00:12:08 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's great because you got someone else doing all the work of lining up exactly how you're going to act stupid all day.

00:12:13 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I got an itinerary. Oh, my God.

00:12:15 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. We have to meet at the river to see the river being dyed green at 8 a.m., you know? So she starts talking about this guy that if you heard the other day, and if you haven't, you can go listen to the podcast. There's this guy that Megan is going to get set up with, and when she's talking about him, she's kind of giggling and laughing about this guy that he works with, and she describes him to me, and I go, it sounds like Megan. It was exactly what Megan said. he sounds like Megan with a penis well I have one too

00:12:52 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 4:

it's very large

00:12:55 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

but it honestly and I started falling in love with this guy as she was describing it and I said to her what I said on the radio to you I said oh my god you love Megan why don't you date him and she goes oh no I was like oh I can't do that I work with him And then she was like, and the whole time that I would be looking at him getting romantic, I'd be thinking of Megan.

00:13:19 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:13:20 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Okay, well, thanks for calling me repulsive, Ellen.

00:13:24 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

No, but that would be weird. Like, could you imagine, you know, you guys, I mean, if you dated somebody that looked or acted like one of the members of the show and you were with them trying to be romantic and all of a sudden you're like, oh, my God.

00:13:38 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 2:

You don't want to think of your friend while you're having, you know, doing your thing.

00:13:41 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 4:

So I love her. This is not a slight at her at all, but Spike dating a woman named Megan really, really is awkward. Knowing that you probably say her name, which is also my name, while doing it, gives me the heebie-jeebies.

00:14:00 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever have to change the cadence in your tone, Spike, at all, when you're in the midst of lovemaking, knowing that you've said that name earlier in the day during the hours of 6 and 10.30?

00:14:12 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

It still catches me all the time when I'm texting. I have to, like, triple check how I spell it and which Megan I'm texting, you know? Like, I don't want that disaster happening where I send the wrong thing to the wrong person.

00:14:24 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 4:

I'm amazed I haven't gotten a sext. That is to your credit. Don't even put that out there. You just put it into the universe. I kind of want it to happen because I know that topic would be phenomenal.

00:14:36 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 2:

I have a bunch of heart emojis next to her name just to make sure that doesn't happen. So I'm not sending her wrong words.

00:14:42 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

Who, Megan's? Our Megan? No, you're Megan.

00:14:45 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

I know. Next to our Megan, I have a middle finger emoji. So there's no mistaking when it comes up which one I'm typing.

00:14:51 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

I told Ellen, I go, you should not have told me all this stuff, and Megan shouldn't have either, because I'm the whole time going to sit there and be staring at him like he's got.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 7:

like a booger hanging out of his nose when I meet this guy.

00:15:03 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to meet him.

00:15:03 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to meet him.

00:15:05 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 4:

Why do you think I can't?

00:15:06 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 3:

He's on the social calendar for Saturday.

00:15:08 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, first of all, I'm trying to avoid Mojo in Chicago as much as possible. We've already scheduled up our time to see him.

00:15:15 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

Good luck with that, because he's making it sound like we're the two best friends that anyone could have.

00:15:22 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 4:

So here's the thing. I'm making plans for him to hang out with his friend Fred, and then I'm just going to steal Chelsea. Oh, these guys.

00:15:30 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 7:

So here's the thing. So I don't fly in until I fly in very early. Can you believe this? I booked a 5.50 a.m. flight to leave Florida to go to Chicago. 5.50 a.m. I didn't even know they had flights at 5.50 a.m.

00:15:44 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Boy, you're going to be a lot of fun at those St. Patrick's Day parties. Oh, my God.

00:15:48 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 7:

And I found out that Chelsea is going out with the girls and doing the stuff the night before, I guess. So I'm like, okay, well, then I don't need to see them either. You know, then then I'll just visit with my son. I'll visit with Jacob. So. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. So, Megan, your thing tonight that you're going to is is it an organization you want to shout out or anything like that?

00:16:14 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the American Advertising Awards are done to support all the local advertising agencies here. So there's a ton of designers, producers, whatever it is, who are making commercials or online or print ads or whatever it is. And they just get to be celebrated. I feel like they do a lot of really great work and don't get any appreciation. Oh, that's cool. It'll be great. And to be fair, I've not really networked since COVID. So I'm excited to go back out and meet people my age in the industry.

00:16:44 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 7:

Tell Megan she looks cute tonight when you see her. That's all you got to do. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

00:16:49 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 5:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

All right, Shannon's going to get us started off this morning with the Dirty on the 30. What you got, Shannon?

00:21:17 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny were spotted sharing a hug and a kiss after hanging out with a group of friends for dinner in West Hollywood. There are photos, there's evidence, which you can see on the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. So it seems like all of those rumors were definitely true. We kind of figured they were. But it was their first moment of PDA caught on camera by the paparazzi. They first sparked romance rumors last month when they were spotted having dinner at Wally's, which is like this big celebrity hotspot to see and be seen in Beverly Hills. Before she was linked to Bad Bunny, Kendall dated Devin Booker, of course, for almost two years. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want their kids to be recognized as prince and princess, which apparently King Charles is now officially honoring. Harry and Meghan baptized their daughter last week in California. And in their announcement of the occasion, they noted that Lilibet was christened. I don't know why that word is so hard to say.

00:22:14 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 5:

Christened.

00:22:14 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 1:

No, christened. And will be known as Princess Lilibet or Princess Lily. Buckingham Palace said their website will also be updated with those titles of princess and prince for Lily and our team.

00:22:28 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that's the way to get the family all together, you know?

00:22:33 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't think it is.

00:22:34 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

They just have to do that. You don't want them to show up? You want them to show up at the coronation? Have we figured it out yet? Has he booked his air travel yet?

00:22:42 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 2:

No, I want him to go to England for the coronation because I want him in the country and I actively want him not at the coronation. I'd actually love for him to spend time with the Spencers, a.k.a. his mom's family.

00:22:54 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 4:

So remember I was mentioning about how Tyler Perry flew that humongous jet to go visit them? He's the godfather of Lilibet, and that was why he flew in to go visit them. But still, everybody's kind of talking about the fact that he was one lone guy on the biggest plane ever, which was pretty interesting that he didn't find smaller transportation.

00:23:18 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 6:

He owns that 747. I remember Oprah doing a special with him. He built his own runway next to his mansion. Yeah. It's crazy.

00:23:26 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine having that much money? I know.

00:23:29 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 4:

And it takes a huge runway to land that plane.

00:23:33 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And a crew of six people to operate that big thing. Wow.

00:23:39 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 1:

RuPaul, the face of the Drag Race franchise, is responding to this recent wave of anti-drag and anti-trans legislation introduced by Republican lawmakers here in the states. RuPaul calling the bills, quote unquote, a classic distraction technique and is urging all Americans to register to vote. Hey, look over there, a classic distraction

00:24:03 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 3:

technique, distracting us away from the real issues that they were voted into office to focus on. Jobs, health care, keeping our children safe from harm at their own school. Drag queens are the marines of the queer movement. Don't get it twisted and don't be distracted. Register to vote so we can get these stunt queens out of office and put some smart people with real solutions into

00:24:28 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 1:

government. RuPaul's response comes as many conservative legislatures around the country attempt to ban kids from drag performances, ban drag shows from occurring in public places and label them as adult oriented businesses i know tennessee kentucky and montana are three of the states moving forward with bills specifically banning public drag performances tennessee took

00:24:50 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

it a step farther not only did they do that yesterday yeah we knew that this was only going to be a jumping point for a lot of these states when it started happening but they just passed a I feel completely.

00:25:00 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 1:

And that bill could allow county clerks to deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples, interfaith couples, or interracial couples in the state of Tennessee. And lastly, Memphis Grizzlies, John Morant will not face charges after he recorded himself flashing a gun around at a Denver club over the weekend. Police cleared him yesterday saying that despite the concerning images on his Instagram live that took place on Saturday morning, there was not enough available evidence to charge anybody involved with a crime, including Ja. And while cleared legally, he is still facing potential punishment from the NBA. The league announced they have launched their own investigation into this. And I know the Grizzlies announced they plan to keep Ja Moran away from the team for at least the next four games. Am I right on that?

00:25:45 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And another NBA piece of news. Poor Matt Ishbia, his big player that he just got, Kevin Durant, injured himself yesterday in warm-ups and could not play. So the guy is one of the highest-paid guys in the NBA, and supposedly while he was doing layup lines like you used to do before a game if you were a basketball player, he ended up hurting himself. So let's hope that that's not that bad. Otherwise, Matt Ishbia is going to be very upset today to the people at UWM.

00:26:17 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:26:21 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scam is next. Well, cheating on a good person is like throwing away a diamond and picking up a rock. War of the Roses, coming up at 7 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:26:41 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 2:

It is your home of the phone scams. Elaine wants us to call Archie. This weekend, while he was at work, a snowplow dinged his car door, and he's been waiting for a call back from the plow company. Spike is not very good with customer service, you'll hear in this phone scam. Mojo in the Morning, your home of the phone scams.

00:27:02 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning, home of the world-famous phone scams.

00:27:09 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 6:

Hello? Yeah, this is Phil from Toyin' Landscaping, calling for Archie. Is that your name? Yeah. That's your name, huh?

00:27:17 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 5:

Right, yeah.

00:27:18 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay. There's a note on my desk. You had to complain about our services. Can you let me know what's going on?

00:27:24 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 5:

One of your snow plows apparently bumped into my car.

00:27:28 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 6:

Your car was in the lot when they plowed it?

00:27:31 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. There was no notice. Nobody told me to move it. I assumed that whoever was doing it would pay attention to vehicles.

00:27:39 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'm just wondering because how do you know it was my driver that hit your car?

00:27:44 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 5:

Because your driver, your vehicle, was the only vehicle that came through there. I was probably inside for about, I don't know, three or four minutes getting my coffee. It was fine when I came out. I saw your vehicle come in. Wow.

00:27:55 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 6:

Your vehicle was the only one that was there. That's amazing. That's amazing that you saw the plow come in, but you had to get coffee instead of moving your car so he could clear your parking lot.

00:28:05 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 5:

I made the assumption that your driver was a careful driver and would not run into vehicles.

00:28:15 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 6:

You know what they say about assuming? They say it means you're an a**hole.

00:28:19 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 5:

Your driver ran into my car. We need to get this fixed.

00:28:22 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 6:

First, we need to go through the basics here and find out if that's really what happened. Where was the car damaged?

00:28:27 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 5:

It was damaged in the driver's side door. I can send you guys a picture of the dent. I've called you guys before.

00:28:34 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 6:

Do you have a picture of the plow hitting the driver's side door?

00:28:37 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 5:

No, I've got a picture of the dent in the door that wasn't there before your vehicle came into the parking lot.

00:28:43 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 6:

What kind of car is it?

00:28:45 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 5:

It's a BMW.

00:28:46 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 6:

Well, if you could afford a car like that, then you must have more money than me. Maybe you can take care of the door thing and not worry about it.

00:28:52 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay, this is getting ridiculous.

00:28:54 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 6:

What's ridiculous is we get these kind of complaints all the time, and I'm not saying this is you necessarily, But a lot of people see a plow and they see dollar signs like, oh, I can file some kind of false claim and collect some money here. You don't even have proof that my truck hit your car.

00:29:09 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 5:

Your vehicle was the only vehicle in there in the time period that this happened. Any reasonable insurance company would say this was what the damage called for. I'm calling you guys as a reasonable person saying you guys caused this to happen. Be reasonable people and take responsibility. We caused it to happen.

00:29:30 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 6:

You saw the snowplow coming to do their job. You just left your car in the middle of the parking lot, and you think it's our fault.

00:29:36 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 5:

It wasn't in the middle of the parking lot. It was parked properly. Your driver should have watched where they were going.

00:29:43 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 6:

You got any surveillance footage or cameras maybe at work that could prove it was our truck?

00:29:51 - 00:29:55 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I haven't checked. I'm happy to do that if that's what it takes. This is...

00:29:55 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it is. Why don't you call the cops and have them dust for fingerprints on your car?

00:30:00 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 2:

You know, or I could just sue the sh** out of you guys Yeah, an apology is in order here

00:30:06 - 00:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Are you apologizing?

00:30:09 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 2:

No, I thought you'd want to apologize to me This is bull**** Do you have anybody that has any common sense there? Yeah, well, I mean, I don't have anybody in this room that has common sense But I'll give you my name It's Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show Elaine just told us to phone scam you You're on the radio right now It's not the landscaping company Yeah, that's awesome. That's amazing.

00:30:36 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. You're home with the phone scams. The world famous.

00:30:48 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo. 5 at 6.55. What could just walk in?

00:30:57 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 1:

So we are working in, what, one, two, three, four cities right now. So we've got Detroit, Grand Rapids, Toledo, and KP and I are in Tampa. And look who just walked in. Guys, say hello to Ashley Nix. Ashley!

00:31:16 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 3:

What's good? What up, my babies? What up, though? How are you? Fabulous. I miss you. Miss you more.

00:31:22 - 00:31:24 | Speaker 2:

What do you miss the most? It doesn't matter if it snows.

00:31:25 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't miss the snow.

00:31:27 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 1:

No. What were you going to say, Spike?

00:31:28 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Ashley's our sunshine. It doesn't matter what kind of day you're having, what kind of weather you're having. She comes in, she's a ray of sunshine.

00:31:33 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 3:

Mojo was hating on me this morning, though. I was coming in with all this energy.

00:31:37 - 00:31:43 | Speaker 1:

I was very tired. I'm only working on, like, three hours, three and a half hours of sleep. So I was like, oh, my God.

00:31:43 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, he does that to me all the time. I know. No, no, no.

00:31:46 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 1:

Girl. I got to do my own drops right now, my own bond of drops. But, no, so, Ashley, the thing I miss the most about you is you had the good hookup to get my shoes clean. I got you. I swear to you, I had the cleanest Jordans I've ever had in my life when Ashley Mix works for the show. All right, we're going to do the 5 at 6.55. Test your pop culture knowledge. You guys do this on your show too, don't you?

00:32:13 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 3:

We do.

00:32:14 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. Nikki is going for her second win in a row. Hi, Nikki, how you doing?

00:32:19 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 3:

00:32:20 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 1:

Good. Tell us a little bit more about yourself. We didn't get a chance to fully meet you yesterday when you were challenging.

00:32:27 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, as you can tell, I'm a little bit persistent and tenacious, but I have 10-year-old twins. I live in Macomb. I went to Eisenhower class of 98. Shout out. Woo, woo, woo. And, yeah.

00:32:43 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 1:

Good. All right. And yesterday we learned that not only do you give an answer, but you expand on your answer and give us more details. So let's see what happens today. Monica is your challenger. Monica, not that far from you. She's from Rochester. Monica, taking the kids to school too?

00:33:00 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Rojo in the Morning.

00:38:35 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 2:

Olivia, who do you think that your boyfriend's cheating with?

00:38:38 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 3:

With my roommate.

00:38:40 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay, why is that? Why do you suspect that something's going on with him?

00:38:43 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 3:

he came to my house and it was when i wasn't there okay and uh did you find out after the fact or or what happened well i actually checked um i checked my ring camera and i saw that he was he came in wearing one thing and he left and he was wearing something else so how do you think he's cheating because of that well if you were someone you would obviously take off your clothes and then you might be wearing something different plus his hair was messed up is he working out

00:39:23 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 2:

maybe is there a place is there a place to work out in your apartment or your house could he have

00:39:27 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

taken a nap i don't know well he could have been sleeping but it would be sleeping with my roommate

00:39:34 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 2:

he goes to your to your house not knowing that you're not going to be there does he contact you and say where are you or like did he did he check in with you to at least tell

00:39:44 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 3:

you that he was there well he did send me a text asking if i was going to be home and what did you reply with i told him that i wasn't going to be there for probably an hour it would take me an hour to get home. I was across

00:40:00 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 1:

And what was his then response to that? I'll wait for you.

00:40:04 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, he said he was going to wait for a while, but then he said he had to leave.

00:40:09 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 1:

And when you went back and you said looked at the ring cameras, did you notice that he like said goodbye to somebody or like did he just walk out, close the door and leave? Because I would wonder if he if he turned and said goodbye to like your roommate or they had a goodbye at the end or something. Yeah, then there, was there anything like that?

00:40:32 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, I didn't see anyone at the door, but he did seem to linger.

00:40:37 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 1:

And kind of waited around for a second?

00:40:39 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 3:

Like he was either saying something to someone or looking for someone.

00:40:43 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's make a phone call to your boyfriend and see what he does when we offer him up a free dozen roses and see who he sends them to.

00:40:52 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 2:

What's your roommate's name? Andrea.

00:40:55 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Hang on.

00:40:59 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 2:

I'm looking for Ethan. Hi, Ethan. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling with a brand new internet floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. If you have like 30 seconds to answer two quick survey questions, Ethan, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that you can ship to the person of your choice anywhere in the country and it's not going to cost you anything. Do you have less than a minute to spare? Okay. Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months? No. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Definitely no. Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey. Like I said, we can now give you this free dozen long stemmed red roses. That's what you're getting. And I just need to get some info about who you want to send these flowers to and we'll get them sent out. Okay. So I need a first and a last name. Okay.

00:42:13 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Andrea, A-N-D-R-E-A. Mm-hmm.

00:42:19 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 2:

All right. Okay. And before I get Andrea's phone number from me, we can also include a card with a message on it with these flowers that will be sent out today. Did you want to include something short on the card, or we could just sign your name as well?

00:42:35 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 3:

Um, yeah. Just put from your new best friend.

00:42:40 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And Ethan, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:42:49 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I guess.

00:42:50 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 2:

Great.

00:42:52 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 1:

And Ethan, I also want to jump on here and inform you that we will send those flowers out, but I also needed to let you know that while we were gathering up this information, that your girlfriend, Olivia, was listening in to the call and just heard you send flowers to her roommate. try to get them get them back on with us your new best friend did you ever suspect it that that there was something before this

00:43:37 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 2:

like were they flirty with each other when they were around each other No.

00:43:45 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

So they never were ever in a position where they ever were alone together before this, or at least that you knew of?

00:43:53 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 3:

Not that I knew.

00:43:56 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 1:

Some listeners are texting in at 95500, and by the way, you can call 844-MOJO-LIVE, and they're saying that they wonder if that text message to you from him saying, when are you going to be home wasn't just his way of trying to see how much time he had has that ever happened before where he's gone over and you weren't there and he had said to you when are you coming home or asked you when are you coming home does he ever if you if you go back right now to your phone scroll through and look at your text and see if there's other text to him uh to you saying when are you going to be home or what do you know finding out your

00:44:37 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 3:

whereabouts he did but not when he was at my place well that's the thing I'm

00:44:42 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 1:

wondering right is if he was if he was at your place trying to figure out what

00:44:47 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 2:

you know little chunks of free time he has when you're not gonna be around how

00:44:50 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 1:

far can you go back on a smart doorbell I mean it's two weeks I don't know what

00:44:56 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 2:

it is on ring I mean that's something that we got to look at hang on

00:45:00 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. Yo, yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. Olivia, he doesn't want to go back on the air with us, and I legally can't put him back on if he says no.

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious?

00:45:19 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 1:

Has he contacted you or reached out to you?

00:45:24 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:45:26 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang for a second. We're going to try to talk him into it, okay?

00:45:30 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay, thank you.

00:45:32 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 1:

Just tuning in with the War of the Roses this morning. So Olivia suspected that her boyfriend was cheating with her roommate, and she said that she saw that he was hanging out at their place, at their house that they rent when she wasn't there. And then some listeners had some interesting things like, why is it that he was checking to see how long it was going to take for her to be home, And then at that point, why is he staying there? Why is he hanging out at the house? And there's been some other, you know, conversations, I guess, of where are you? How long are you going to be at work? When are you going to be home? And those are all things that you would think would just be just normal if you didn't have a suspicion that your significant was cheating on you. But when they're possibly cheating and he sends flowers to another girl, Tyler wants to make a comment here. Tyler thinks he's a big old dummy, and why is that, Tyler?

00:46:32 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, why would he send flowers to the same house that Olivia lived at? Oh, my gosh. The roommate wasn't there.

00:46:38 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 1:

But you know what, though? We do it as a we're going to send you a text thing. So the message is not really on the flowers, just so you know that. The message is actually on the text that we send back to them. So I don't know necessarily.

00:46:52 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

I mean, but you're right. It's still. I mean, why would you send flowers to your girlfriend's roommate? Right.

00:46:57 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, why would you screw your boyfriend's or your girlfriend's roommate? You know what I mean?

00:47:02 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, exactly. Shame on my roommate, too.

00:47:05 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, that's the thing that, you know, I bet you there's some listeners that are checking us out this morning that has had that. Who under the same roof that you were living in was fooling around with your significant other? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Oh, I'd love to hear your stories. That is so bold. Hey, what's up, Juliana?

00:47:29 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing?

00:47:31 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. What's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:47:34 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. I was just calling to say that I think that was really, really ballsy behavior. Obviously, they felt comfortable with this. It had a few talks. He's making jokes. Oh, I'm your new best friend now. What time are you getting home? An hour? Oh, I could be there and do this and be out in an hour. I think it was really ballsy until he got caught. I think he needs to cut them both off.

00:47:52 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's funny. We all kind of add our own little conversation into it because none of that was ever said during the conversation we just had. But I get it. I was doing the same thing, too. I'm thinking to myself, once he put that thing of your new best friend, I started thinking to myself, okay, what does that mean? Your new best friend, you know?

00:48:11 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 2:

They've talked about it. They've joked about it. And he's like, I'm your new best friend now. I mean, come on. Let's analyze this a little bit.

00:48:16 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 1:

Right, right, right. Or that's kind of what they're going to play it off as. Oh, we're just friends. He won't go on the air with us, though. He's embarrassed because his family listens to the show, so he doesn't want to be on with us. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Hello. Who is this?

00:48:37 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're talking to me, Sarah?

00:48:38 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hi, Sarah.

00:48:39 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hi. Yeah, my now ex-husband slept with both my roommate and my sister.

00:48:45 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Under your roof? Yes. Wow. So where were you? Where were you at the time? uh working how did he make sure supporting the whole family how did he make sure that you were at work did he ever do that where he would see text you ahead of time before they were

00:49:02 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 3:

messing around and say hey how long are you gonna be at work no we all okay so me and my sister and my husband all worked at the same plant and when i would go to work he would sneak off and sleep with her and then he would also on the days that i worked shifts that they didn't work

00:49:20 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 1:

Talk about trust issues There's no one in your life You can trust Yeah

00:49:26 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 3:

I do want to talk about havoc being wreaked But thank God I'm rid of him now

00:49:32 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 1:

Did you find out about both of the cheating situations At the same time Or did you find out one first And then the other second

00:49:38 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 3:

It was kind of a sticky situation I found out about them both at the same time Right after we conceived my youngest son

00:49:46 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh geez

00:49:47 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 3:

So I was pregnant

00:49:48 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

And then you did you, when the youngest son came about, did the other two get jealous of the fact that you were having a child with the guy that they were fooling around with?

00:50:00 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, he was my husband, so they really had no room to get jealous. But I don't talk to my sister anymore, and the roommate is definitely gone. We stayed together for five years after that.

00:50:09 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 6:

Did the roommate know that your sister was fooling around and vice versa? Did they know each other was doing this?

00:50:17 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. They're still friends. You're kidding me.

00:50:19 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 6:

So were they ever fooling around all together as a group?

00:50:23 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 3:

That I couldn't guarantee, but I wouldn't put it past them.

00:50:26 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Wow. Yeah. That's like one, seriously, that's like one big daytime, you know, talk show, let's scream and yell at each other type moment. What's up, Jackie? Hi.

00:50:36 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning.

00:50:37 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. We're talking about sleeping or cheating with somebody that lives under the same roof.

00:50:43 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 4:

My sister and I live together, and she actually slept with my boyfriend for four years.

00:50:48 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. And how did you finally find out?

00:50:52 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 4:

The funny part is, is that he would tell me, he was like, I'm sleeping with your sister. And I would ask her, and she was like, no, why would I do that? So because she was my sister, I believed my sister. Wow. But he was, did you think he was joking and trying to be funny? I did. I thought he was just, you know, being a smart butt or whatever. But no, later on, come to find out, my sister was like, I've been sleeping with him for four years.

00:51:18 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. What kind of sister is that?

00:51:20 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 4:

Are they together now? Right.

00:51:22 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 6:

No. Nope. I think it's kind of.

00:51:24 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 4:

I was just like, who does that? And then, you know, I'm sitting here feeling stupid because he actually was telling me the truth and I'm calling him a liar.

00:51:33 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 6:

Why do you think he was telling you?

00:51:35 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Maybe he wanted out.

00:51:38 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 1:

Some kind of bold, brazen shit girl.

00:51:40 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 4:

But instead of breaking up with you, he wanted you to break up with him. Right. I don't know, but I was just like, I felt so stupid.

00:51:48 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Sam, what's going on? We're talking about this situation that just happened to Olivia where she found out that her boyfriend is cheating with her roommate. And does this happen more than not where somebody that's living under your same roof starts cheating with your significant other?

00:52:05 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had a good friend that was going through a divorce and didn't have a place to stay. He was staying in a hotel room. I was like, well, that's dumb. You can stay at our place. We have a guest room. And I came home one day and found them in bed together, him and my ex-wife now.

00:52:19 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, geez. Wow. Yeah. How long?

00:52:22 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 2:

Now they are married.

00:52:24 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Wait, they even married each other? They can't do that. You know, like, that's brutal. Like, it's one thing to have your heart broken, but then it's another thing to have it rubbed into your face every single time.

00:52:34 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 2:

So do you get invited to that wedding? Yeah. Definitely not.

00:52:39 - 00:52:39 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:52:40 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 6:

You guys didn't have kids with each other, right?

00:52:42 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. We were married. We were together for over 10 years. We had a daughter together.

00:52:48 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 6:

So what's it like when you go pick your daughter up or drop your daughter off? You've got to see this bastard every time that you do that?

00:52:56 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he doesn't look over. He looks down at the floor of their car. Is it at your old house? Did she keep the house or did you take the house? No. No, we both have moved out. We meet at just a meeting location halfway between the two.

00:53:11 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Sorry to hear about that, Sam.

00:53:14 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it happens. I'm happy now. It's all right.

00:53:17 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 6:

At least it wasn't your brother cheating. Like, honestly, I'm more fixated on those two callers about the sisters. Like, that is sibling. Isn't that crazy that that would happen? Ashley, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:53:29 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So, I end up getting in contact with a long-lost cousin. She lived out of state. She ended up moving in state. I let her live with me, and she slept with my fiancée. And the crazy thing is I found out We have video cameras Outside of our Outside the house Because we lived in our house At the time And you know It's the kind that you could Rewind, five, four Pause, record She didn't know I was rewinding it To see something With a package That had got delivered And just so happened To see them kissing On the porch

00:54:03 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh my god Well that's why Did you hear me ask Olivia Before we made the phone call Did you look At the camera To see like if he looked back or he did anything like when he was leaving and she said that she saw him look back and kind of look at but you wonder if maybe they embraced inside of the house not in front

00:54:21 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 5:

of the camera you know but the crazy thing is she knew he had cameras such a i'm so hurt by it and and then to find out because then he's trying to get me back and i considered it as being crazy i considered it and now find out she's six months pregnant by him

00:54:38 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah don't do that the emotional toil that like you hear this you go why would you ever consider taking her back or the last color it said i we tried to work it out for five years after that like you're so deeply and emotionally involved in this person you're willing to put aside such a crazy offense that he's sleeping with someone on your own roof like your own blood flesh and blood

00:55:00 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 3:

Relatives, her best friends. It's crazy. All right, War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right. We're going to do the Dirty on the 30. We've got a scam coming up here in just a little bit. It's Mojo in the Morning. What's going on, Shannon?

00:55:14 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 1:

So I'm still getting lots of details about this story, but I want to tell you what I know so far. Tiger Woods and his girlfriend, Erica Herman, have called it quits.

00:55:22 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 3:

I love this story.

00:55:24 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 1:

There is some drama here. Man. Yep. So Erica is now suing Tiger. for $30 million, claiming he cooked up this big plan to toss her out of the home they shared. According to new legal documents, Erica and Tiger actually broke up last fall. So it's been a while. They have been living together in his Florida home for six years, during which time Erica says she performed quote-unquote valuable services for Tiger in exchange for living there rent-free. Okay. You know what that means? Okay. All right. Now you're talking. All right. She admits she does not have any of this in writing, but says she was told she couldn't come back. Agents locked her out of the home, and she was accused of doing something shady to get that $40K. She's suing Tiger's Trust specifically for $30 million because she claims that's the reasonable rental value of Tiger's home for the five remaining years on their little oral agreement that they shook hands on. But again, none of this in writing.

00:56:23 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 3:

I want to know who the attorney was that she ended up hiring. Was it a TV attorney? Because there's no attorney that would take this case.

00:56:29 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, and here's the big thing this morning. Erica has asked to be removed from her non-disclosure agreement that she had to sign when she got into a relationship with Tiger, citing a law that allows these NDAs to be voided if there's proof of sexual assault or harassment. Which she did not have. She had none so far.

00:56:51 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 3:

So here's the interesting thing. Okay, so she's upset because Tiger flew her on a vacation, and then when he flew her on a vacation, he changed the locks. Yep. You know? Oh, man. That's messed up. Wow. Come on, that's messed up. How many times does that happen in real people's lives, huh, where your significant other leaves and you clean out the place? That happens all the time.

00:57:12 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

That's different between leaving and being sent somewhere that you thought was a nice thing and then coming home and not having access to your stuff.

00:57:19 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 3:

I knew a guy that sent his girl to Orlando with her daughter. She was dating a single mom. Sent her to Orlando to go take the child to go to Disney. While he went with another woman to Vegas. And then got busted that way doing it. And I think that, listen, I don't think that it's the right thing to do. But I'm just saying that, do you sue for $40 million? Come on. $30 million. It's crazy.

00:57:47 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 2:

Seems like there's probably more than this than we don't know.

00:57:50 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever, by the way, can I ask you an honest question? Do you ever stick up for the guy and the problems?

00:57:55 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

What do guys deserve to be sticked up for? Give me a situation, because this ain't it.

00:57:59 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 3:

His leg almost came off. He would never cheat.

00:58:01 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 2:

Talk about the serial cheater. Yeah, I've got his side on this one. I love that Mojo goes, his leg almost came off.

00:58:08 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Seriously, the man almost lost his leg. Due to his own.

00:58:12 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 2:

Why did he almost lose his leg? What happened? What was he doing?

00:58:15 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 3:

Will you ever stick up for me? Or you go right to Chelsea. Chelsea automatically gets your vote.

00:58:20 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 2:

I would take Chelsea's side in a heartbeat before the question. Is that even a question? Any of the situation, yeah.

00:58:25 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 3:

Even if I lost a leg? I don't know. All right.

00:58:28 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 1:

You almost lost a leg. Raquel Levis claims her Vanderpump rules. A co-star, Sheena Shea, punched her in the face and is threatening to do it again. This part of the fallout from Raquel's affair with their co-star, Tom Sandoval, A judge granted Raquel a temporary restraining order after she claimed that Sheena attacked her last Thursday in New York City, pinned her up against a brick wall and punched her in the face. She's got photos to prove that she was punched in the face. Those are up right now on the dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. So now Sheena must stay at least 100 yards away from Raquel, her home, her work, which will make the Vanderpump Rules reunion show filming real challenging. Don't know how they're going to do that when there's a restraining order in place. Harry Styles gave a pregnant Australian woman the surprise of a lifetime when he revealed her baby's gender at a concert in Sydney this week after he noticed her holding up a sign in the crowd that said, do my gender reveal. Listen to how this went down.

00:59:29 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 2:

The good news is, I know something. The bad news is, you'll have to wait till the end of the show. No!

00:59:43 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

And lastly

01:00:00 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 2:

Nostalgia is very, very in right now, and toy companies are capitalizing on that with plans to reboot some old favorites. Anybody remember Fingerlings? Those aren't that old. They're like six or seven

01:00:12 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 4:

years old. Littlest Pet Shop,

01:00:14 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 2:

Megan? Oh, yeah. Did you ever have Littlest Pet Shop?

01:00:16 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 4:

Otherwise, I call them Littlest Choking Hazard.

01:00:19 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, not only are they coming back, if you loved those, they are coming back at lower prices than we all originally bought them for. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

She got sent down to Tampa, Florida because the person that does all of our best social media and web work and all that stuff is based out of here.

01:01:38 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 3:

We're getting a makeover in our studio with our cameras and stuff, and everything's going to look really good.

01:01:43 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be good.

01:01:44 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I was down here for that.

01:01:45 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 1:

So, but it did conveniently also fall that there's this little thing going on between the two of you guys. And I don't necessarily know what the thing is. Does anybody kind of have an idea of what this thing is?

01:01:57 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 2:

No, but it's very flirty and friendly.

01:02:00 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 1:

They talk a lot, Shannon. Do they? Well, they text a lot.

01:02:04 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:02:04 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 1:

And this is the weird part, though. So, KP, when you are not in Tampa like you are right now, you and Jed are always talking to each other.

01:02:17 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 3:

Jed and I probably text every week.

01:02:21 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 1:

Every week.

01:02:22 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 3:

It's not every day, but we have conversations.

01:02:23 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't buy that. It's not every day.

01:02:25 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 3:

It's not every day, actually. And I go to Jed when I'm, like, when I don't know how to do something, too, because he typically knows how to fix things. but he's he's very different in person when I because I was very surprised coming here and he seems to always have something else to do when I ask him if he wants to do something and uh you saw yeah we were at that little smoothie place yesterday and he he um he was like talking about a smoothie and I'm like oh let me try and he's like no I'm like walked away and like I asked him if he wanted to hang out and he's like no I gotta go take my dog out and I'm like oh

01:03:00 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 1:

So wait, so Ashley Geis is in studio, too. So Ashley Nix is here.

01:03:04 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Ash. Hi.

01:03:05 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 1:

Works with Joe, Jed, and Ashley. You know, they're, of course, in the afternoons on Channel 955. So, KP, you say that when you guys are together in face-to-face, like not, you know, four states separated, he is not as interactive with you as he is, you know, over the phone.

01:03:28 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Jed is all work, no play, is what I've realized.

01:03:32 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 4:

Can we ask Ashley a question? Because she's the closest to him. Just get this right off the board here. Does he have a woman he's interested in? Does he have a local girlfriend or somebody?

01:03:41 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 3:

Not at all. Jed's not talking to anybody.

01:03:45 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 4:

Jed is a free man.

01:03:46 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 3:

If Jed's talking to somebody, it's the engineer, because they spend so much time together. All right, I have a question. If Mojo is so obsessed with the inter-show relationship, Ashley, can we date?

01:03:55 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to fly you out

01:03:59 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Ashley you've seen this before haven't you with Jed what's the story with Jed and why it sounded to me first off let me just say this I'm going to go on record to say this I was snooping at Jed's phone so Jed picked Tony and his son Christopher and myself up at the airport and I saw that Jed got a text message And you know how when you get a text message and you're on CarPlay in your phone?

01:04:28 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 3:

I can't even believe you right now. You can actually see the text.

01:04:31 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it might be on the dashboard.

01:04:33 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 1:

I didn't say what your text said, but I just say KP came up on there. What did it say?

01:04:41 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what did it say?

01:04:42 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, let me just say this to you. It was very flirtatious.

01:04:47 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay. He left our date to go pick up your butt. Wait, so there was a date? Date? Date? We let our drinks together. Oh, wait a second. You are so busted.

01:05:00 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 2:

So we were having a very nice time, and he had to go leave to pick up TT, Tony, and Mojo. And I'm like, I'll come with. I want to see them. I want to see my favorite bosses that are reading my text messages. And he's like, no, because then I've got to drop you off, and it's 30 minutes out of the way. I'm like, whatever. I'm not going to push him. Like, if he doesn't want me to come, I get it. Aw, come on. Which is super lame. And I've realized this these last couple of days that I am 100 percent quality time and because I got way too it pinched a nerve way too much when he would do other things. Yeah. And I'm like, oh, shoot, that's that's how I know that I need to stop like talking to Jed because he's he's starting to like get under my skin. Anyway, he was I was I was he shared his location with me when he was picking me up from the airport and I made sure to watch him from start to finish. He goes to the airport, picks up Tony and Mojo, drives right by my hotel. Literally the street. I see him drive by, go all the way to Mojo's place, and I watch him there. And I ended up catching Jed in three lies yesterday.

01:06:08 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, the first obvious one is he said it would be way too far out of the way.

01:06:12 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 2:

You can't defend yourself on this. Speak of the devil. He just walked in the studio. So, first one was, before our date, he said he was going to pick us up at, not date, drinks, at 7. He calls me 20 minutes before and says, my ETA is, or not 20 minutes, I don't know when he called me. He's like, it's 7.05. He gets there at 7.20. And I watched his location. He was not getting gas. He was still at his house.

01:06:38 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 3:

That was the first one. Wait, why would you, Jed, why would you share your location with KP?

01:06:44 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 4:

Because when she first came into town, she was like, hey, do you mind if I share your location with you or with me? That way I know you can come to the airport and pick me up. That's the original reason why I did. You're right, Spike. It is a rookie move. And damn it, I was wrong for doing it.

01:06:57 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 2:

I should have never freaking done it. Okay, second one. God, what was the second one? I can't even remember anymore.

01:07:04 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 1:

Well, she's driving right by your hotel and then claiming that it would be too far out of the way to have you.

01:07:09 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and then he drove right by.

01:07:11 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 3:

Did you think that you were going to get some cookies?

01:07:13 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

That's not what I wanted.

01:07:15 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 3:

100% you did.

01:07:16 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 4:

You never asked someone to come over and hang out and spend the night unless you want some kind of sexual action.

01:07:22 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 3:

I did not say what was on the text message that I read yesterday.

01:07:26 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 2:

Now we know. I did not say anything in that regard. No, I did not.

01:07:31 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 4:

I checked the receipts because she has the location. Now that I have the receipts.

01:07:35 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 2:

I've been here for three days and you've heard every excuse in the book. I want this to work.

01:07:40 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 3:

I feel like Al Bundy. Listen, guys. Al Bundy. Who's that? Married with children. I don't know. KP. He's pulling it out. He, by the way, just so you know, if you do get in a relationship with him, he likes all the same sitcoms I like.

01:07:53 - 01:07:53 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

01:07:55 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 3:

But, okay, so just stop for one second. You guys, this is common, and I know there are some listeners that have this, where you are flirtatiously talking to a person over your app or over your phone, But then when you get face-to-face, gone. So I don't know what it is. Maybe it's, Jed, maybe you guys are of the generation where you guys cannot communicate face-to-face. I do communicate face-to-face.

01:08:24 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 4:

Most of the communication that we've done this whole entire time down here has been face-to-face.

01:08:27 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 3:

But you flirt when you're in Tampa and she's in Detroit. You guys flirt with each other. Then you come down here and you've got the goods right in front of you, man. Look at this beautiful woman right here. Here's the thing.

01:08:39 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 4:

It's like, yeah, you do that because you're from a distance. But at the same point in time, when you're out on a date and you're hanging out, and she also hates when I do that with my hands. Nobody can see it. Oh, you're jazz hands. She's got jazz hands going on right now. But at the same point in time, I don't even know. I'm just so flustered right now.

01:08:54 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Listen, here's the thing. You got the, you know, this is, this is, don't you feel like apps have ruined people? Because what it's done is apps and FaceTime.

01:09:04 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 1:

There's no self-confidence in person. You got, you, I mean, she's into you. You're together, but you're pushing her away once she's finally in front of you.

01:09:11 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 2:

You know, listen to this. I said, Jed, let's go walk at the beach or something. Let's go do something. You know what he tells me? There's a red sea. No, it's red tide. There's poison in the ocean. We can't go. Look it up. Look it up. Look it up. Red tide. I'm like, okay, I'm going to go lay out on my pool.

01:09:26 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 3:

By the way.

01:09:26 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 2:

No comment. I'm going to go walk my dog.

01:09:28 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine being in a relationship with either one of these two guys? Oh, my God. But no, but the thing is, you guys are such a cute couple, and I don't understand this. you had a girl come in from out of town she and he preferred to walk his dog and she and you prefer to walk your dog and she invited you to come and stay at her hotel room because it was

01:09:51 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 2:

the last night like literally like why don't you oh and because after jingle ball he goes

01:09:56 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 4:

notice how she is more triggered about this than i am with you um After Jingle Ball, you literally texted me and was like, you feel like you messed up, that you didn't make a move. And I'm like, yeah, because I wasn't ready for anything, which clarifies we did not do anything. We still haven't done anything, and we don't think we will do anything. But he, like, had a chance to redeem himself, and he did it.

01:10:17 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 5:

But wait a second. Jed, are you—is the reason that you didn't go, are you, like, a little nervous? No, not nervous. Like, you want this to be a certain pace, and so you're trying to pace yourself?

01:10:27 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to allude this back to a book that I brought up on there before. It's called How to Be the 3% Man.

01:10:32 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Oh, my God. No, no, no. I want to hear this.

01:10:34 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 4:

Are they talking about you and you're masculine again?

01:10:36 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 2:

No, not about masculine. It's about scarcity creates value. So if I remove myself, then it creates more value. Okay, what happens when both of us are gone?

01:10:46 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 4:

What if I just stop responding to your text and it's so scarce nothing happens?

01:10:51 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 1:

The scarcity has happened for four months. Like, now is the time. You've increased your value. Now's the time to hit the home run.

01:10:58 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You're going to regret this for the rest of your life. Do you realize that when you're my age, when you're a 52-year-old man, you're going to go, remember that girl, KP? She was at the Holiday Inn.

01:11:12 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 2:

I'll be sitting at the front porch of a Cracker Barrel.

01:11:16 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 8:

You tried to take me to Cracker Barrel last night.

01:11:19 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 3:

You're going to be a married guy with, like, five kids running around. You're going to be annoyed. You're going to half love your wife and you're going to remember.

01:11:28 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's another thing he told me. He said when he marries his second wife in a conversation, I'm like, what? You know what you guys are planning on having more than one marriage.

01:11:37 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 3:

You guys, you guys are both going to end up in other relationships, break up with each other and then meet on Facebook. That's what's going to happen. I don't know. What do you guys think? Why? Why is Jed not making the move?

01:11:49 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 8:

I think he's nervous.

01:11:51 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, I know. Helena, what do you think about this?

01:11:54 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 6:

I think it's the pressure The pressure you guys are putting down on me

01:11:59 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, we're not putting it down He's putting it on himself

01:12:02 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 6:

I just, I think it's the pressure From, you know, you guys should date You guys make a cute couple I think it just needs to happen organically And then everything will be fine

01:12:12 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I I think maybe there might be a little Inner show pressure Maybe Jed feels like it would Be, you know, bad if the shows then, you know, had like a breakup or something like that. I get it. I get it. You're probably overthinking this, Jed. Just go for it. What's up, Christina? How you doing?

01:12:32 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Dude, you're killing me right now. The girl likes you. Like the Little Mermaid? Kiss the girl already. Jesus Christ.

01:12:42 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 1:

That's exactly what it is, Christina. It is the Little Mermaid. We go to kiss the girl.

01:12:49 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 5:

He's killing me. Like, oh, my God. The only loved ones. Go for it.

01:12:54 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 3:

I know. I know. And you know what? We love both of these guys so much. They're both so cute nerdy, you know, or nerdy cute. And they're perfect together. Tiffany's got some advice for KP. What's your advice, Tiffany?

01:13:07 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 7:

KP, I think you need to run because Dad is not sure enough. And, like, that scarcity comment, that little quote, the scarcity thing, was the most F-boy thing I've ever heard.

01:13:21 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 4:

I agree because these feelings that I'm having right now that I've had for the past three days are the same feelings that I had when I was with my really toxic ex.

01:13:30 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. You're messed with toxic masculinity. Here's the trap card.

01:13:36 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 3:

No, listen. Listen, we're going to try to make this nice. I just need, you know what I need to do? I'm calling a timeout. Timeout. I want a 20-second timeout over here. Let me pull my boy aside here. I'm going to give him a little talking to, and then let's run a long song. Can I play like throwbacks or something like that or do something?

01:13:55 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 1:

I wish I had to drop in front of me to play, you blew it!

01:14:00 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Tell us what you think. You can text at 95500. It's Mojo in the Morning. Should KP run from Jed? Or maybe Jed just needs to go for it. You think I should fully send it? Dude, I'm going to say this to you. You're going to be, again, 50-year-old guy with your kids at the Cracker Barrel. Your kids are going to be driving you crazy. Stop hating on the Cracker Barrel, first off. It's delicious. All right.

01:14:29 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 5:

Begging for taffy. Yeah.

01:14:32 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is time now for a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning. Nicole had an incident in Las Vegas, and her husband wants us to phone scam her. Apparently, they went to Topgolf, and a golf club slipped out of her hands and hit a glass wall. Well, Spike is going to call and collect the damages. It's a mojo-in-the-morning phone scam.

01:14:53 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 7:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song.

01:15:00 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 2:

It's your home with phone scans. Mojo in the morning.

01:15:06 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hi, this is Phil from ****** Insurance calling for Nicole, please. This is Nicole. Hi, Nicole. I'm calling from the claims department about claim number 4542001.

01:15:19 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, what is this about?

01:15:21 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 1:

This is about the golf club that damaged a door.

01:15:25 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you've got to be kidding me.

01:15:27 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm calling on behalf of Topgolf, who supplied the customer information to us. I'd like to get your side of the story, if you could, just for the insurance paperwork. Can you tell me what happened?

01:15:37 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 2:

Sure. I mean, my husband took me and a bunch of friends. I've actually never even swung a club before, ever. I've never been golfing or anything. My first time. And, you know, really no big deal. I just swung it. It slipped out of my hand.

01:15:50 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

And then it flew up behind you and hit the glass entranceway? Is that what I'm to understand?

01:15:55 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 2:

Yes, but I will say there's really no damage. And the manager told me everything was fine. I talked to the manager. He said, absolutely no big deal. You're fine.

01:16:03 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 1:

Right. Well, unfortunately, I mean, maybe he was trying to calm you down, but he doesn't have the right to say that. It's a corporate decision, and there was damage.

01:16:10 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

I mean, there really wasn't. I mean, first of all, everybody's drinking, having fun. I can't imagine this is, like, not something you've dealt with before. I mean, it was a little ding in the door. I mean, it was nothing.

01:16:21 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 1:

We don't call it a ding when it's a glass door. we call it a crack and then there was a scratch on the black handle but it wasn't that bad maybe when you first did it but after you left the entire double door shattered when one of the

01:16:32 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 2:

staff members opened it i mean i'm sorry there's so many people there and everybody's drinking i really can't believe that i mean it really was well you're not taking this seriously if you just

01:16:43 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 1:

think because you were drinking that's an excuse to cause whatever damage you want that's not how

01:16:47 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 2:

we operate i didn't say that but i mean i just feel like of course there are most other people there i mean i just don't feel like this is because me plus the manager said no big deal

01:16:56 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 1:

the manager that's not for ron to decide this is a corporate matter because the damage exceeds eight thousand dollars and it gets handed to us their insurance provider so now it has to proceed

01:17:07 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 2:

further beyond that eight thousand dollars that's ridiculous no no i mean this is the two double

01:17:13 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 1:

doors the glass entranceway had to be replaced i really feel like this is ridiculous like not

01:17:19 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

paying for it like isn't this what insurance is for for accidents well there's a high deductible

01:17:24 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 1:

that you're going to have to be responsible for and then obviously we as an insurance company cover the rest i'm not sure if you want to pay it out of pocket or apply it against you know a

01:17:32 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 2:

credit card or something we're not going to be doing either of those i don't know what to tell

01:17:36 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 1:

you but this is just a freak accident okay well if you don't want to pay this can get complicated

01:17:41 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 2:

we were told that you were consuming alcohol it's basically a bar everybody there is consuming alcohol i don't feel like you could blame me right but my concern is the attitude you're using that

01:17:51 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 1:

as an excuse like you can come in and like a bull in a china shop cause whatever damage you want and

01:17:56 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

then blame it on alcohol it's my first time ever holding a golf club it literally slipped out of

01:18:01 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 1:

my hands i really this is not my first time as an insurance agent trying to do my job and you're standing in the way of me doing my job totally unaware or unconcerned about legal action that can be taken i just would recommend that you pay the bill before it gets sloppy what would you take

01:18:17 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 2:

legal action for are you going to say that i threw a club against the door on purpose well

01:18:21 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 1:

willful destruction of property do you have an umbrella insurance policy to cover no well i guess we can tell the police that you intentionally targeted an employee and fled the scene under

01:18:30 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 2:

the influence i didn't target anybody it doesn't seem like all the witnesses on the cameras would show that's what happened well the staff would say that don't threaten me don't do that to me Someone in my party recorded the whole thing, including Ron saying that I was off the hook.

01:18:46 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay, you have a recording of it. That would be admissible as evidence. There's an easy and painless way for you to handle this. Let's add up the damage here and see what we're working with. Let's see what you're going to be responsible for. I'll tell you what. We'll also deduct $500 from the damage if you agree to use that money to take remedial golf lessons. You cannot be serious. Well, I'm very serious, but I'm not from Topgolf. or the insurance company. This is Spike from the Mojo in the Morning Show, and you've just been phone scammed.

01:19:17 - 01:19:18 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:19:20 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 1:

Nicole, your husband sent us an email and said, you had a little accident there at Topgolf.

01:19:26 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, that part really was my first time ever holding a golf club.

01:19:31 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 1:

Maybe this will be your last time at the driving range, too.

01:19:34 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even want to go this time. He bribed me with mimosas. We will, we will scam you. You're home with the phone scams. The world famous. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:55 - 01:19:59 | Unknown:

Watch out! Make some noise!

01:20:00 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 2:

good morning good morning mojo in the morning coming up here in about 27 26 minutes a chance for you to party with us for st patrick's day we would love for you to hang out we got a couple different things one we're going to be a kennedy's irish pub in waterford michigan on friday st patrick's day and then on saturday the day after it's irish on ionia and we'll give you a chance to win some passes to that coming up here in just a few uh still on the way lots of good topics coming up here in just a little bit spring break just got canceled also the worst door dash deliverer ever and know how we know because we can still smell it we'll talk about that and spike with I should have called in sick all happening in just a matter of moments here on the mojo in the morning show plus war of the roses if you missed it earlier this morning you can go check out the podcast a girl suspects that her boyfriend is cheating with her roommate I brought this up as discussion but who would you most be worried like or most upset about would you be upset that your boyfriend cheated on you or would you be upset over the fact that now you got to find yourself a new place to live or at least a new roommate i mean i don't know how you live through a situation like that uh and i don't know honestly how she's going to but we'll get more into that and you'll hear it if you go check out our podcast right now or if you give us a little bit of time and just want to keep on listening to the show listen uh just after nine o'clock all right mojo in the morning show so chelsea uh and i have friends of ours who have a daughter who goes to Michigan State and this week MSU the Spartans are on their spring break and we were having a talk with them and I don't know if you guys heard this we talked about it on our our trending news but there was a story that happened it started on Friday when four Americans were ambushed beaten and then we found out as we all thought that they were kidnapped by this Mexican gang that two of them were killed and two of them actually were beaten and thank God they survived well MSU is on spring break this week and do you know how many people I know including this family that have a son or a daughter or somebody in their life, a brother or sister that's on spring break in Mexico right now with the story coming out so our friends called their daughter after the story happened and came out on Monday that, I think it was Monday or Tuesday,

01:23:00 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 2:

that they found the bodies of the two of them. And they made their daughter get on the first plane that they could come back, which, by the way, was not until yesterday. Because if you ever been to Mexico, they only do flights, it seems like, Saturdays to Saturdays to a lot of these destinations.

01:23:18 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:23:19 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 2:

Unless you can fly through Atlanta or through Houston or Dallas or one of those places. So Spike and Shannon, Megan, Mike, KP, Lydia, our friend's daughter was there with a bunch of her friends, and the parents all are now freaking out. And now my friend is not an overly protective dad by no means. He's just realistic. And he said, you know what? I don't want my daughter to be the next victim of this. And to show you how serious this is, And this, by the way, this warning had been out way before this story came out. The State Department warned with a travel advisory that Americans should not be traveling to several places in Mexico. And here's with their advice. Their warnings were issued for some of the most popular states like Quintetana Row, where Cancun is. I think I pronounced it somewhat okay. Also, the Baja California Sur, which is where Cabo is, Los Cabos. Those are two areas that they say are the highest risk right now with these Mexican gangs that are out there, these drug lords that are there. And the U.S. State Department had been telling you, and I know I've got a bunch of friends that are going for high school spring breaks here.

01:24:47 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's a distinction in the warnings. The ones in Quintana Roo around Cancun and stuff, they're a lower level. They're a level two, and it's because there's a big battle going on right now.

01:24:56 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't care if it's a level minus one.

01:25:00 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 4:

No, but I just want to give you the distinction so we're all, like, we know what we're talking about. Along the northern border is insane and dangerous because of the organized crime activity. You have, like, you know, battles, murder, carjacking, kidnapping. That's where, like, the story we've been hearing about this week. The one down around Cancun is there's always been this level two warning because you still got to keep your head on a swivel and be very careful about the situation you're in. But right now there's a big battle between the taxi drivers and the Uber Ubers coming into the tourist area. And there's this big battle where the drivers are messing with each other's cars. There's random.

01:25:38 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 1:

See that in itself. I'd be like, you're not going.

01:25:40 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 2:

Here's the problem, though, just so you understand this. If you are in Cancun, you're not in an area that the U.S. government can send people to go help you and get there in like less than three hours or four hours. like it's not a situation where it's a it's right across the border like even this situation with these four that that ended up getting kidnapped where they they had you know they they had sent in fbi right away you are so far away from the border and being able to go and i and i'm not and so my friend um my friend works uh he's he works in the automotive industry and actually is pretty decently, you know, high up at General Motors. And his fear is if they find out who her dad is, that's a fear that, because he travels down there to Mexico all the time for work purposes all the time, and he travels with security. So, and there are a lot of our listeners that do this. They go back and forth. And listen, I'm not bagging on Mexico at all. I love Mexico. My brother lives in Puerto Vallarta. He owns a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. So I want travel to happen there because it affects my brother's livelihood. But I'm just going to say this right now. Something's got to be done. And if you are somebody, if I'm going to go on a vacation right now and if my vacation is to somewhere in Mexico, I might rethink it. I might rethink and think about going somewhere else.

01:27:09 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 4:

And I'm not saying it's safe. I'm saying there's a big difference between the two warnings that the U.S. consulate and embassy has put out. because the big thing i always tell parents because parents come to me a lot asking because they know i i really read up a lot about travel and stuff and my big thing is you gotta stress with the kids or your family if you're going on a family vacation you do not

01:27:29 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 1:

leave those resorts you do not like go off and don't meet people that are locals and let them

01:27:36 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 4:

take you yeah like you can't you can't trust that people are going to take you to the aztec uh hey go on this one day destination and if you don't know that company and you didn't do the background research it could be a very you could be putting yourself in a very dangerous situation that i believe i believe i would let my daughter be safe on a resort but would you

01:27:57 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 2:

would you let your daughter go would you let your daughter go to mexico and trust that she's just going to stay with her girlfriends getting from the airport to the resort well i without me being

01:28:07 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 4:

there i probably wouldn't want her to go to permanent period because i there's so many other safer places to go where i don't have to worry about you just getting from the airport to the resort. A lot of the resorts have transportation included, but they don't all do

01:28:19 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 2:

that. Right. So I've gone to visit my brother numerous times at Puerto Vallarta. I've gone to Cabo a couple of times. We've gone on vacations and stuff. And I've also gone to Cancun. And the one thing that I will tell you is the walking out of the airport to the mass sea of people of screaming at you, telling you that they're going to take your bags, they're going to help you with stuff. Okay, that was a little anxiety-filled, but it's still safe you're at least at the airport it's the getting into a car that you don't know exactly who the person is it's you know think about these people these people drove across the border in a minivan while they were driving just driving down the street this gang that uh you know this cartel gang you know just takes them right away and now they're saying they're there's all kinds of rumors that are coming out about these people and they're and i feel bad for their families but there's rumors like were they bad were these four people involved in something bad maybe they stopped for something it doesn't make a difference if you go to a country if i go somewhere and i'm going to travel i expect that i'm going to go and i'm going to be safe you know i've been to places before where you know you feel like you aren't as necessarily safe but at least i know that if something happens to me the that the u.s government has the ability to be able to help me you know i

01:29:43 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 1:

remember when i was in high school there was a group that went to mexico um and a couple of the kids got thrown in jail and i can't remember the reason why i'm sure it had something to do with drinking obviously but um they the rest of their group came home and those kids parents had to fly down Mexico to help get them out of jail. I mean, that's another risk that, you know, all violence

01:30:05 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 2:

aside that. Well, and there's a lot of corruption within the government. And I mean, the last time I was in Mexico, there was a checkpoint by the police to pull over. And, you know, you see all the guys staying on the side with the automatic weapons strapped to their chest. And my driver didn't want to stop for the checkpoint. I'm like, well, it's police. I don't want to stop. And he's like, no, no, no, you don't stop. Sometimes they're just trying to take money from the tourists. And And I'm like, oh, boy, you know, that's what you have to be careful of.

01:30:30 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 5:

Lydia, get that 734 caller on, the one that says they're changing the station. Their text messages are, Cabo is safe. There's always a travel advisory. The people in Cabo are amazing. The locals are amazing. I'm not saying the locals aren't amazing. Like I just said to you, my brother's a freaking local in Puerto Vallarta. He's a Mexican citizen. And I'm not saying that the locals aren't great. I'm saying the drug cartels are not safe. My brother and I have had this conversation numerous times, and he hates when they do these travel advisories because what does it do? It empties their hotel rooms. And I say to him all the time, well, then why do you guys not have a president or a government that does something against these drug cartels? You know, go after these drug cartels and stop these guys from causing the problems. If you're a Mexican citizen, you're fearful of the drug cartels.

01:31:28 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

And if you were to reverse the situation, there's other countries that put warnings out about America and the violence here. And we know it's not everywhere in the country. There's places you have to be smart about, and the rest of the country is a great place.

01:31:40 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 5:

Well, and there are probably some places that I don't necessarily know if I want my teenage son on a spring break to go to.

01:31:46 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 1:

I would just like to point out at this moment that y'all made fun of me for going to Walt Disney World for my spring break. It was very, very safe.

01:31:54 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 5:

But I would also like to point out that you went on a Mexican trip by yourself once.

01:31:58 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, my sister was living in Mexico City.

01:32:01 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 5:

I know. We were still fearful.

01:32:03 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know you guys wanted to put a tracker on me, which, honestly, I appreciate. I mean, you were being protective, but I did feel safe there.

01:32:10 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 5:

Sonia and 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Just wanted to throw this out there. Any listeners that have thoughts on this, you'll have to tell us. What's up, Sonia? Oh, Sonia, go to Jennifer then. Hi, Jennifer.

01:32:24 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

01:32:26 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 5:

Good, Jennifer. What happened to your aunt?

01:32:28 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 3:

So my aunt's cousin, they built a house in Mexico, brand new house on this whole land, and the cartels came and took it. So I was like, why didn't they call the cops or whatever? So the cartels, they run, like in a certain part of Mexico, the cartels run the cops. The cops are scared of the cartels.

01:32:47 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and along the northern border, there's a lot of little towns where you're right it's just the the government is not in charge of

01:32:54 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 5:

those police anymore no they're scared of the cartels so what ends what ends up happening in that case did they lose their their place oh yeah the cartels you can't do nothing about the cartels

01:33:06 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 3:

the cartels are very very um they're this they'll they'll kill you they'll go after you they'll go after your family they'll go after your kids they'll go after yeah everybody so the big thing

01:33:20 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 5:

now is they're saying that people who are traveling you know and going on vacation to not try to look you know flaunting you know your louis vuittons and your you know jewelry and all the rest of that stuff because if they think you got money they're they a lot of cases they use it as an opportunity to, you know, kidnap and just try to get family to pay a ransom. And I don't know if I want to deal with something like that. I remember going to Punta Cana and everybody was like, you got to go to this liquor store. It's off grounds and the liquor is so much cheaper there. And I'm like going, oh, great. And then how do I get there? And they're like, oh, we got a guy that will come pick you up and take you there. And I went with a friend and I thought, this is the dumbest thing ever. because I'm, I'm like fear, fearing, God forbid, something happened to me and all I, you know, I'm doing, I'm saving what? $35 or whatever. Um, what's up, Nicole, how you doing?

01:34:20 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you? Good. So we hired, well, we went to Cancun in a nice resort, all professionals and the guys that we met, there were all attorneys and they hired a bodyguard and I thought it was insane but we went out we had a great time everyone drank i just remember the silhouette of this big bodyguard on the side well we get back and we're talking to all the people from the resort and listening to their stories there was two australian um military guys there that they were held up at the bar by the waiters or waitresses the shot girl by the knife that they had to hand over their money right there um there was everyone had a story of a knife or

01:35:00 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 6:

a beating or this or that which they were all let go and fine they just had to give up all their

01:35:00 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

01:35:04 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 6:

money or whatever was on them and they were free to go ahead and leave and come back so we're sitting there like oh my god i guess we needed the bodyguard to go to coco i don't know if i can say the place coco bongo big club yeah coco bongo was one of them yeah and there was a couple other like night foam parties that we had no idea that this bodyguard was needed until we got back and heard

01:35:26 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 1:

everyone else's story wow wow that's crazy by the way how do you find bodyguards is that kind of like do you go down to the concierge and they give you a bodyguard i don't know the lawyer guys had

01:35:36 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 6:

this bodyguard you know and i think a couple of them wanted to like party party so they wanted

01:35:41 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 2:

to make sure they were okay yeah i have friends and family like mojo that work in automotive and the companies assign a bodyguard to pick you up at the airport and watch you the whole time because a lot of times tourists want to venture off and be like well i'm here only here for two nights i I want to see the nightlife, and that's where the trouble starts if you don't have somebody around to keep an eye on you.

01:36:00 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 6:

And there's a family that sits outside of Coco Bongo's where it's this cute little old lady and all of her little kids, and they sell bracelets. No. Everyone knows those little kids are grown men in little people bodies, and they have knives. Wait, what? Really?

01:36:17 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 1:

No. No. And they'll pick. What?

01:36:19 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 3:

That sounds like a.

01:36:21 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 1:

No, they'll pick. What they do is they have a scam. There's a scam. And my brother told me about this when we were in Puerto Verde. He said, you just got to be careful of this. The little old ladies, like, get you nice. And then the kids come up and they'll try to, like, grab your purse or something.

01:36:34 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I believe that.

01:36:35 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that happens in big cities in the U.S.

01:36:36 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 2:

That's a big thing in Rome and other places. You just got to really be careful.

01:36:40 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 1:

Dana, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:36:44 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so my two friends and I were in Cozumel. We were there on a cruise. It was a stop. We were there all day. And we went to go just, like, get in a cab. This was, like, 10 years ago to go back to the dock, and we actually basically discovered that we were getting kidnapped, and I happened to be the less drunk of all my friends, and he actually stopped at the stop sign, and we got out of the car and ran out. He had, like, a gun on his hip. We thought he was a cab driver, and he was not. But I actually remembered, like, where we were, and I kept telling him, like, no, go right, go right. And he would go left, and it got darker and darker, and then finally I just was like, we have to go. And so we ended up running back to the dock.

01:37:32 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

Well, all I say is this, and this is what my friend brought up, too. We were talking about this, and he's like, listen, he goes, I want my daughter to have a great vacation, but he goes, I don't want her to be, you know, that one person. And if I can prevent it from happening, I know I can't prevent her from, you know, she goes to Michigan State. God forbid she could have been at the union, you know what I mean, the night of the shooting. But he's like, I'm just not going to try to put her in a harmful situation. And then we started talking about that Natalie Holloway. And the conversation was all these people that go on these vacations and his daughter's down there with two other girls. And it's just the three of them together. But it's like I think I would be more protective of my kids if that was the case than if my kid was going on vacation or going on a spring break with, like, 45 people that are all together because at least they keep maybe account of each other. But I don't know. One last call here, and this one is to Amy because I feel bad because here we are talking about all this stuff, Amy. And what do you have planned here in a couple weeks?

01:38:36 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 5:

We're going to Cancun in two weeks. There's a bunch of families from our neighborhood going. There's about 30 of us going to Moon Palace. And I talked to the guy that's heading up our trip. He's been there several times. He's from Mexico. He's lived there. He said, Amy, I get why you're nervous. He said, but as long as we stay in the resort, he said, we're going to be fine. He said, you just got to know where to go, where not to go. I have to admit, I'm pretty nervous about it. But I also read up on it like Spike did. And I realized that you're at a lower risk if you're on the resort.

01:39:05 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, stay on that property, you'll be fine. I've stayed at Moon Palace before.

01:39:09 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 5:

It's like anything else. You don't go in the bad areas of Detroit. You don't go in the bad areas of Chicago. You've got to be smart about it. So I don't think we need to scare people into not going. You just have to be safe about it. And if you're going with a bunch of people, just make sure you don't go anywhere alone.

01:39:22 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

And be smart about how you get, like Spike said earlier in the conversation, from the airport to the hotel. That's the big thing. I would prearrange that. Yeah. With a reputable company. Moon Palace provides transportation. Okay. Okay. So that's right.

01:39:35 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 5:

They take their transportation. Yeah. So that doesn't worry me at all. So I think it'll be fine. But I just think it's interesting. And you're right. They need to do something with the drug cartels, but it's sort of out of our hands. It's a corrupt government.

01:39:47 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's sad because the Mexican economy is based off of our tourism, right? That's where they're making their money is the tourism and then the money that we bring by.

01:40:00 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 3:

put in factories and things like that there and if they can't promise that they're going to keep you know our citizens and other citizens from other countries safe it's gonna it's gonna completely ruin their tourism and it's done this in the past it's happened before if you look at history it's like repeating itself but um all right thank you thank you thank you for the call i just want to know where can i go to get my hair braided my hair braided that's when whenever we went to uh any of these vacations every mom had a daughter that wanted to get her hair braided and it was like you had to go off property to get a hair braided. It's like, I'm sorry, honey, you're not getting your hair braided. You don't need to do that. Mojo in the morning, I was just saying to KP that, hey, maybe we should DoorDash a little breakfast. And she's got DoorDash PSDs right now.

01:40:43 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 5:

Never again.

01:40:44 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 3:

After the DoorDash that she and Lydia did on Monday. And what was the story both of you guys have to tell us about the DoorDash?

01:40:53 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 5:

I ordered DoorDash for both of us, and Katie ended up dropping it off at the producer room. And Lydia is sitting there. She's screening calls, and I smell this terrible, terrible smell. And Lydia, you didn't smell it at first.

01:41:08 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 1:

No, I didn't. But, I mean, to my surprise, it ended up being cigarette smoke. So KP had a sandwich in a bag, and then I had a coffee, which keep in mind I paid $10 for. So KP and I were about to eat our food, And then Katie mentioned that she smelled the cigarette smoke. So she smelled her bag and she was like, it definitely is coming from the bag. And I was thinking, oh, maybe. So then I smelled the lid of my coffee and it smelled so bad. It had a sticker over it. So I had to pop off the lid to drink my coffee.

01:41:42 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm not kidding you. It like you, it smelled like somebody had tapped their cigarette off on the top of Lydia's cup. And there was that as an ashtray? Yeah. It was terrible, and I don't know. Has anyone ever had this happen where, like, you order DoorDash food and your bag was tampered with or, like, you could smell the person on it?

01:42:07 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Question for you, what would you rather? Would you rather your DoorDash delivery person eat some of your French fries or basically smoke into your bag? That's tough. Or another one, body odor. Has anybody ever had the DoorDash delivered and it smelled like the person's body odor?

01:42:29 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 5:

That would have to be so bad.

01:42:31 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I've had that, Shannon. No, you have not. Absolutely. What?

01:42:34 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 5:

Really?

01:42:35 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

01:42:36 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 5:

They used your sandwich as deodorant?

01:42:37 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 3:

No, I ordered to the radio station one time, Duncan, and the person brought, I remember this, the person brought, and I thought it was, Spike was really into those wraps, right? Yeah. You like those little wraps? And I thought it was his wrap. I'm like, God, it smells like body odor. And I'm wondering if that wrap was the reason why I smelled. And then I was smelling my cup, and it was honestly. And it could honestly not be the DoorDash person. It could have been the person, I don't know, who made it. Who knows? But it smelled like body odor.

01:43:05 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 1:

But don't you want the food so bad that you're like, oh, do I eat it? Do I not? Because I still drink the coffee. I just took the lid off.

01:43:11 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 3:

Like you said, you paid $10 for it. You're not going to waste it.

01:43:14 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 1:

I wanted it so bad.

01:43:15 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm so hungry right now, I would eat a body odor, smoke-filled, whatever.

01:43:21 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 5:

You want the rest of my bagel? No, I can't.

01:43:24 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 3:

I'll get sick.

01:43:24 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 2:

I had a driver deliver my food, smelled so bad like weed that for the next two days, it smelled like somebody smoked weed in my place. And I was like, no, how does it linger that long?

01:43:35 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 3:

So, Spike, that's an interesting point. Do DoorDash and Grubhub and these deliveries, or even like FedEx, UPS, all those people, Do they tell you you cannot smoke weed? Because I feel like there's times where I just walk by people and they reek of weed.

01:43:50 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 2:

Right. How do they police that? These drivers are sitting in their car for hours at night doing what they want. So, I mean, he rolled the window down and smoke poured out.

01:43:58 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 5:

What about the safety in restaurants? They have to have a certain level of cleanliness and there's a bunch of safe checks. But DoorDash drivers, there aren't any type of regulation on how clean your car should be, which I would never be a DoorDash driver. I'd never pass the clean car test.

01:44:12 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Paige, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:44:15 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. I was just saying that yesterday I work for a big construction company, and I handle all deliveries for, like, our meetings. We had Chipotle catering delivered by a DoorDash driver yesterday, and it reeked of cigarettes. So I called, and they refunded the whole order. It was, like, $350. That was nice.

01:44:33 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's great customer service.

01:44:35 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

How much cigarette smoking do you think it must be that they're doing for, like, your order and then Lydia and KP's order to smell like that?

01:44:44 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 2:

But you know what? Sometimes, like, if someone is a smoker and they smoke in their car, their car just smells like that.

01:44:50 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:44:50 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 4:

I also think if people smoke cigarettes, they don't really get bothered by the smell of it.

01:44:55 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:44:55 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 4:

So they don't think about it.

01:44:56 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 2:

They're, like, immune to it. Yeah, there's one guy in our building that works on our... floor that smokes uh i'm not gonna say everybody knows who it is but the entire hallway smells so bad so like you can tell when you're even just getting close to his office because it just

01:45:11 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 4:

does you work at the rock station because i just figure like that's you know profiling right there

01:45:16 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 2:

if they work at the rock station let's just say this i don't get a lot of things fixed in the

01:45:20 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

studio for that because then it's in their clothes and in their pores and when they sit it gets soaked into their fabric of the chair, and it just becomes a part of them, you know, when they're around.

01:45:31 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

The only crazy person who grew up with, like, smokers in the family, so I actually like it. It's the Southampton. Really? Yeah. Cigarettes remind me of concerts and fun.

01:45:41 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 3:

Not gonna lie, like, if I like a concert and you're in a field or whatever, that's the only time I like cigarettes more.

01:45:47 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 4:

Eloy, what's happening? Hi there. What's going on? You got some details for us on the rules of DoorDash drivers.

01:45:56 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes, there's no regulation for drivers to smoke while they're in their car, but I work for FedEx as well. That is highly frowned upon. Our drivers are random drug tests quite often. So, like, FedEx and UPS, you're not allowed to smoke. You're not even allowed to smoke cigarettes while you're driving. But, as I said before, there's no regulation with RubPub or, you know, DoorDash.

01:46:23 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 4:

But if you get enough complaints, you're in trouble.

01:46:27 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 5:

Um, probably, but, you know.

01:46:30 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 3:

I guess it's more about if you get bad reviews, right? Yeah. Thanks for the call.

01:46:36 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 5:

No problem.

01:46:38 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 4:

No, you finished what you're saying. I'm sorry. I just keep coming back at myself, hearing myself like that. Attention, Kmart Choppers. The blue light special is going on right now in aisle number four on cigarettes.

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 3:

We don't hear it. Are you hearing an echo?

01:46:52 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 4:

I got a little echo back from his phone line. What's up, Angelique?

01:46:56 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it's me.

01:46:58 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Angelique.

01:46:59 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hi, I was making a comment because I door dash, and I thought it was so funny that you said, like, one time that your food smelled like B.O. from Dunkin' Donuts. And every time I go there, it smells like that when I walk in there. You know what?

01:47:16 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

It's probably they got one sandwich that, for some reason, resembles it. They might have one sandwich there. And it's funny that you.

01:47:23 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 1:

The store just smells like that, but I just get the craziest orders on DoorDash, and it's funny because, I don't know, we get a bad rep, but sometimes we just have the worst customers, and I was working Sunday night, and I ended up getting two vibrator orders.

01:47:50 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. The person ordered from where? Where do you get by?

01:47:54 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 1:

Wall screens. Yeah, you can.

01:47:56 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:47:58 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And then I was like, they don't even have this here. Well, they had it, but like, it's weird.

01:48:05 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 4:

So I can door dash vibrators to my house. Yeah. Door dash anything.

01:48:09 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you sounded a little judgmental here. Somebody was probably lonely.

01:48:13 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 3:

Maybe a little bit toasted. Did you forget the AAA batteries? Because that would have been abruptly.

01:48:17 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 1:

I mean, do your thing. Do your thing. And they tried to throw in a pair of socks. I don't know why Well there's a caller

01:48:28 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of adult toys I don't know if Liddy's been trying to get this person on But I don't think they want to talk They ordered from Instacart A few weeks ago And attached to one of their grocery bags Was a bright pink adult toy It was kind of stuck to the outside Of one of the grocery bags So it must have been in the back They think it might have been in the back seat of the car And they put the bags on top of it Oh, my. And it got a free bonus with purchase.

01:48:55 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 4:

That's great. Thank you for the call.

01:48:58 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 3:

No problem.

01:49:00 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Dem, I like this. Dem, short for democracy, on the phone with us here on line number five. Hello, democracy. Democritus. Oh, Democritus. I thought it was democracy. All right, Democritus. Democritus is a DoorDash driver. Is that right?

01:49:16 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. I'm an Uber Eats, Postmates. I do it all.

01:49:20 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 4:

And you also partake in a little bit of ganja.

01:49:25 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. I'm smoking weed right now as I speak.

01:49:28 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 4:

Do your deliveries ever smell like that?

01:49:33 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I also do Uber driving, too. I've been reported saying that my truck smells like weed.

01:49:40 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that's what I was going to ask, if people have complaints. Yeah.

01:49:44 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they have. I've had complaints on me, but I literally stopped. Smoking in my car and I used another vehicle to do my business. Hey, damn question for you

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Do you find that the

01:50:00 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 2:

orders that you get for all the food delivery apps goes up when you're delivering and it smells like weed? Because I would probably be more hungry and my appetite would be better if I get to smell that.

01:50:13 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I've been picking up some orders and I'm like, man, this food smells good.

01:50:19 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever grab a bite?

01:50:20 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 3:

Just a French fry or a chip?

01:50:22 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, no. I don't tamper with people's food. I don't tamper with people's food.

01:50:27 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 2:

Where do you deliver? What area of our listening audience?

01:50:30 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 5:

Grand Rapids area Oh really

01:50:34 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 2:

So how much do you charge to actually smoke in The Uber before I get in Because I want that I give you a free joint Oh I like that Hang on the line Mike wants your number You got five stars we're going to give you a good review

01:50:49 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey I spoke to y'all before I told y'all I work at Country Fresh

01:50:53 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh that's right Country Fresh I love Country Fresh There ain't nothing And there ain't nothing better than country fresh dairy, right? Absolutely. What's your favorite country fresh ice cream?

01:51:09 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 5:

Man, you know, I eat a lot of ice cream every day.

01:51:12 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:51:14 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 4:

Personally, I like the French onion dip, but, you know.

01:51:16 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's good.

01:51:18 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 5:

We call it fine. Yeah. But for the most part, I've had complaints on me. I just I know how to

01:51:28 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys notice that you mellowed out the moment we started talking to this guy? I feel so much more relaxed now. Thank you for calling Democratist. Is it Democratist?

01:51:40 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

01:51:43 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Love you, buddy. Thanks for listening. Be safe. Take care of yourself. Oh my god, this would be the worst. How would you like to have this Instacart driver? Brittany, how you doing?

01:51:55 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. Good morning.

01:51:56 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 2:

What did your Instacart driver do?

01:52:00 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 4:

So I had ordered an Instacart order from Randazzo, the fruit market. And so I had, you know, you get a ton of stuff for real cheap. So the order came. I brought the order into the kitchen, and my sister and brother-in-law were over. And my brother-in-law was like, God, I'm like, everything smells like gas. You know, we're like snipping the bags. and my sister literally was coming from upstairs to the downstairs and said, I can literally smell the gas from the upstairs.

01:52:25 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Oh, wow.

01:52:27 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 3:

How did that happen? It's fruit, too. You have to throw it away.

01:52:31 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 2:

There's nothing worse, by the way, than you spilling gas on yourself when you pump gas. Can you imagine that you spill it on your groceries? Yeah, those groceries are ruined. Yeah.

01:52:39 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, we thought, like, that's what happened. Maybe she pumped, you know, went and got gas. Well, so you can message through the app. So I asked her, like, you know, by chance, like, did you get gas or, you know, did you have a gas can in your trunk or whatever the case may be? So finally, she came clean to me that she had a full gas can spill in her trunk.

01:52:58 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 4:

She had cleaned it.

01:53:00 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

01:53:01 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, so you put my, all of my, you know, fruit market order in the trunk of your soiled spill carpet. Yeah. Of your trunk. Oh, gosh. Right.

01:53:12 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 2:

Now your bananas are flammable. Oh, really?

01:53:16 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 4:

It was terrible. And then I also, you know, you can tell little blurbs on top of that. I asked, you know, for all ripe avocados if they didn't have them, forget about it. This girl brings me 16 hard as a rock hot stuff. I'm trying to make a damn awful dip.

01:53:33 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 2:

This is why you do Kroger delivery. This is the exact reason why you do Kroger delivery. All right, thank you for the call.

01:53:40 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 4:

You bet. Have a good day. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:53:46 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 2:

Let's get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30 phone scams and the War of the Roses all to come.

01:53:52 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 3:

The romance is on after all of the speculation and rumors. Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny sealed the deal that they are a couple with a very public kiss after having dinner with a group of friends in West Hollywood. There are photos. There's evidence. It's up right now on the Dirty page.

01:54:08 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I saw everybody on social media go crazy. Is it because does she have, like, a bad history and they just think Bad Bunny's a real nice guy? Like, it seemed like they were really upset. I mean, she did it with Devin Booker for a couple years. Bad things seem to happen to men careers when they start dating her. I gotcha. Well, I don't know.

01:54:24 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

It's not fair, but it is funny. Bruce Willis' wife, Emma Hemming, has shut down claims that his ex-wife, Demi Moore, moved in to help care for him following his dementia diagnosis. Now, we've talked about this before. I mean, they are very close and very amicable and always have been as exes. So it wouldn't be too strange for that to happen. But word on the street was that Demi was helping to care for Bruce alongside his current wife, Emma. But Emma wrote on Instagram yesterday, let's nip this one in the bud. This is so dumb. Please stop.

01:55:00 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 4:

Specifically, Bruce is battling something called FTD, or frontotemporal dementia. Emma also battling claims this morning that she is using his diagnosis to boost her own fame. Saying, please watch this space. Do you believe that, though? Come on.

01:55:16 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 3:

No, no. That's such a bad tabloid story.

01:55:20 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 4:

I knew it wasn't real. It couldn't be. Kevin Hart announced a show called Celebrity Prank Wars after that video went around yesterday about the want to have my baby show or whatever it was called with Nick Cannon. So the actual show, Celebrity Prank Wars, will see celebrities planning and pulling off some of the most viral pranks on each other with Nick and Kevin selecting the winner of each prank war.

01:55:45 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 1:

I got you. Having my baby with Nick Cannon is not real, y'all. But my new E! show with Kevin Hart, Celebrity Prank Wars, is real. So make sure you lock in, and here's a first look. Let's go.

01:55:57 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Anthony Anderson, Brea Nikki Bella, Tiffany Haddish going to be participating alongside Taraji P. Henson, Lil Jon, Ludacris, Joel McHale, Killer Mike Chance, the rapper T-Pain, Robin Thicke, T.I., and Xavier Woods have all been tapped. It premieres April 6th.

01:56:11 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 3:

That's better than the Masked Singer. They got better people than that dress.

01:56:16 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Well, speaking of the mask singer, funny you should say. Spoiler alert in case you didn't watch last night's episode. But last night, the show honored DC Comics superheroes with a stage that was decked out with all sorts of famous movie memorabilia. The panelists dressed up as their favorite characters. I saw Jenny McCarthy as Harley Quinn. But the gargoyle, the wolf, and the squirrel hit the stage with the wolf receiving the lowest amount of votes. So I need your kisses. Please.

01:56:51 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I know that voice.

01:56:52 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You sure do. Because he's a singer.

01:56:56 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it's Michael McDonald. Michael Bolton.

01:57:00 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Mike! Mike Aguilar! Is it? Is it?

01:57:05 - 01:57:11 | Unknown:

The legendary Oh my God. Yes. Multi Grammy Award winning

01:57:11 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 5:

Oprah Michael Bolton.

01:57:14 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:57:14 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Michael Bolton. Oh my God. Yes, I will. Michael Bolton on the voice last night. Mike knows Mike.

01:57:21 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 4:

01:58:48 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 3:

War of the Roses. Boston cheaters. Don't go anywhere. And a girlfriend suspected that her boyfriend was cheating on her with her roommate when she was looking at their ring cams that they had set up or nest cams, whatever they have at their house. And she looked at it and saw her boyfriend go in wearing one part of clothing and then coming out wearing not the same clothing, knowing that she was at work and her girlfriend was there. her girlfriend, who's her roommate, hear us bust a cheater coming up here in less than 10 minutes. It's Mojo on The Morning Show. Did you guys ever have a day where you just think to yourself, I probably should have called in sick today. I probably should not have gone into work. Today's not one of those days for me. I'm having a good day. So I'm nonny, nonny, boo, boo. It's too early, by the way, for you to say that you're having a bad day already.

01:59:52 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 4:

That's not true. I can wake up and be like, it's not going to be good today. You know, right away.

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, sometimes it happens within the first.

02:00:00 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 1:

few minutes of arriving at work you just want to turn around and go you you would say i'm gonna go back to bed i should not be here it happened yesterday when i was at a home improvement store that i you know i was repairing this attic leak i had from that ice storm and i went to get some paint and while i was there the poor kid working the paint counter he was mixing cans of paint for a customer but he must not have put it in the shaker correctly or maybe i don't know if it was still open or if the shaker wasn't tightly clamped down on it because a five gallon bucket of paint exploded everywhere as soon as he started the machine it was raining paint on the countertop the floor even the poor customer that was waiting there for it had paint on him i felt so bad for this poor kid because it was just you just look at one of those days like okay i royally effed up

02:00:51 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 6:

i'm going back to bed i should have called what do you do when you get it all over the customer

02:00:54 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 1:

like that that's yeah and luckily the customer is really nice about it and yeah in today's world you never know somebody's gonna freak out but they were what was what was the last time that

02:01:04 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 6:

you said that i should have called in sick today what was the thing that happened do you guys

02:01:08 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 4:

remember at all i have one yeah i was driving to the radio station to do um my night shift and a tire flew off of a semi right on halstead road and that i was watching this tire whip across the road and trying to get it on video i think i told you about this before super yeah yeah yeah so it literally changed direction and flew towards my car oh my god yeah i just that's a sign that i shouldn't go that's crazy kp i literally buy our radio so many things happen by our radio station

02:01:41 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 7:

wow what about you guys you guys got one i mean sometimes i try to take it as a sign when the ice is bad and i slide right past the radio station driveway you should slide right back home i'm just I'm just going to follow my car back home.

02:01:52 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 4:

Or Mojo will accidentally slide into the Starbucks drive-thru.

02:01:56 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 6:

That's right. What about you, Mike and Megan? Do you guys have one of those? Mike, I know you have because we've talked you off the ledge a couple of times.

02:02:04 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, air check day. Anytime we have to go over what we did on the air, I'm like, well, I should probably just call in sick tomorrow. Megan, do you have anything?

02:02:13 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, for sure. There have been many mornings by 6.05. I'm texting Ellen going, why did I come in today? I think one of them has to be when my computer's completely shut down and broken. Like, when our computers break here, we have to run to, like, secure rooms that are behind locked doors, and they're very far away. And the show was starting, and they take four minutes to reboot, and then we have dead air, and then everything's going wrong. And then six things are playing at once, and everybody's like, who's working over the gate? Get it together. It's not my fault. It's the computers.

02:02:44 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 6:

It's so bad. And you know what? I'm doing the show in Tampa Studios. They just got their brand new studios. Let me just say this to you. Every computer logs on. It's so nice. What is that like? I know. I know. Mine, the last time that I had it was the phone call from Alicia Bailey. Will you record 20,000 commercials? I know you're walking to your car right now. But will you do? Will you? Planet Fitness has a new sale. and will you record 8,734 new commercials because they really want to sell the new deal? That's mine usually. So I give her grief on that one only because the other day she stopped me and I said to her, Alicia, you got it. Okay. You got to give me a little more forewarning than this whole thing. And she does that whole little cute thing where she smiles at you and she's got the cute little smile and stuff. All right. I'll go in there and do it. You know, that whole thing. But I said, never again. Not again.

02:03:46 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 7:

Until next time.

02:03:47 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 6:

Until next. Yeah. Until, wait, today's. Until the next sale. Oh, my God. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Katie, what's happening? What was yours?

02:03:59 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. So I worked at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. I was a technician. And I was given an order to do a blood draw. And the lady's port was clogged. So they had to get a nurse. Nurse couldn't do it. They got an intern. And the intern couldn't do it. They got a doctor. Then they finally had to get one of the surgeons. Finally got this lady's blood drawn. And I bagged it up. I sent it down to the tube system and forgot to put labels on it. Oh, no. So lab called. They're like, you have to, because it's policy, medical field wide, anybody will tell you if you send labs down without a label, you've got to redraw. Do it all over again. They throw it right in the trash. And so they had So even after that Like I'd be walking In the break room And the nurse She will eyeball me She can't stand me Because of that I thought Oh my god I did the walk of shame Down the hall I'm like Yeah we gotta redraw Yeah

02:04:53 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 6:

Honest mistake

02:04:56 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

It's 8am You're already thinking About bedtime Just starting over tomorrow

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:05:01 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 5:

What makes it worse is I was like nine months pregnant at the time, and I went running down to the lab trying to catch it before they opened up the tube. So I had the labels in my hand. I'm nine months pregnant running down the hall, banging on the lab door. Don't open that tube.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for the call, Katie.

02:05:18 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 5:

And they just looked at me through the window. They're like, nope, go redraw. Oh.

02:05:23 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Appreciate you. What's up, Victor? Oh, I'm sorry. Have a good day. That was going to be a long phone call, Katie. I tried a couple of times there What's going on, Victor?

to yourself that somebody's watching out for you because you forget something at home you go back into the house go get it and then a few moments later you drive by and you see a car accident

02:06:51 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 8:

I feel, I am that way all the time.

02:06:53 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think that with KP's tire almost smashing into her windshield, I think, man, just like 10 seconds in either direction. She could have either been involved in an accident or she could have never even known an accident happens.

02:07:04 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 4:

02:08:03 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters And proud of it It's your home for War of the Roses On Mojo in the Morning

02:08:11 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 4:

Olivia, who do you think that your boyfriend's cheating with?

02:08:16 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 8:

With my roommate

02:08:17 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 4:

Okay, why is that? Why do you suspect that something's going on with him?

02:08:22 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 8:

He came to my house And it was when I wasn't there

02:08:26 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay And did you find out After the fact, or what happened?

02:08:32 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 8:

Well So, I actually checked my ring camera, and I saw that he came in wearing one thing, and he left, and he was wearing something else. So, how do you think he's cheating because of that? Well, if you were f***ing someone, you would obviously take off your clothes, and then you might be wearing something different. Plus, his hair was messed up.

02:08:59 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Is he working out, maybe?

02:09:01 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 4:

Is there a place to work out in your apartment or your house?

02:09:04 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 3:

Could he have taken a nap? I don't know.

02:09:08 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 8:

Well, he could have been sleeping, but it would be sleeping with my roommate.

02:09:12 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 4:

He goes to your house not knowing that you're not going to be there? Does he contact you and say, where are you? Or did he check in with you to at least tell you that he was there?

02:09:23 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 8:

Well, he did send me a text asking if I was going to be home.

02:09:28 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 4:

And what did you reply with?

02:09:30 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 8:

I told him that I wasn't going to be there for probably an hour. It would take me an hour to get home. I was across town.

02:09:37 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 4:

And what was his then response to that? I'll wait for you?

02:09:41 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 8:

Well, he said he was going to wait for a while, but then he said he had to leave.

02:09:47 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

And when you went back and you said looked at the ring cameras, did you notice that he said goodbye to somebody? Or did he just walk out, close the door, and leave? Because I would want to.

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if he if he turned and said goodbye to like your roommate or they had a goodbye at the end or something. Yeah. Then there was there anything like that?

02:10:09 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, I didn't see anyone at the door, but he did seem to linger.

02:10:14 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 1:

And kind of waited around for a second.

02:10:17 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 3:

Like he was either saying something to someone or looking for someone.

02:10:22 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 1:

All right. Let's let's make a phone call to your boyfriend and see what he does when we offer him up a free dozen roses and see who he sends them to.

02:10:29 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 2:

What's your roommate's name? Andrea.

02:10:33 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Hang on.

02:10:47 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 2:

Hello? I'm looking for Ethan. Hi, Ethan. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling with a brand new internet floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. If you have like 30 seconds to answer two quick survey questions, Ethan, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that you can ship to the person of your choice anywhere in the country, and it's not going to cost you anything. Do you have less than a minute to spare?

02:11:16 - 02:11:17 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:11:17 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months? No. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:11:26 - 02:11:26 | Unknown:

Definitely no.

02:11:27 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, like I said, we can now give you this free dozen long stemmed red roses. That's what you're getting. And I just need to get some info about who you want to send these flowers to and we'll get them sent out. Okay, so I need a first and a last name.

02:11:45 - 02:11:46 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:11:50 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 1:

Andrea, A-N-D-R-E-A.

02:11:53 - 02:11:53 | Unknown:

Mm-hmm.

02:11:56 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. Okay. And before I get Andrea's phone number from you, we can also include a card with a message on it with these flowers that will be sent out today. Did you want to include something short on the card, or we could just sign your name as well?

02:12:13 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, just put from your new best friend.

02:12:18 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And, Ethan, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you

02:12:25 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 1:

okay with that yeah great and Ethan I also want to jump on here and inform you that we will send those flowers out but I also needed to let you know that while we were gathering up this information that your girlfriend Olivia was listening in to the call and just heard you send flowers to her roommate try to get them get them back on with us your new best friend did you ever suspect it that that there was something before this

02:13:14 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 2:

like were they flirty with each other when they were around each other

02:13:18 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

no so they they never were ever in a position where they ever were alone together before this or at least that you knew of not that i knew some some listeners are are texting in at 95500 and by the way you can call 844 mojo live and they're saying that they wonder if that text message to you from him saying when are you going to be home wasn't just his way of trying to see how much time he had has that ever happened before where he's gone over and you weren't there? And he had said to you, when are you coming home? Or asked you, when are you coming home? Does he ever, if you go back right now to your phone, scroll through and look at your texts and see if there's other texts to you saying, when are you going to be home? Or what do you, you know, finding out your whereabouts.

02:14:16 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 3:

He did, but not when he was at my place.

02:14:19 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's the thing I'm wondering. Right. Is if he was at your place.

02:14:22 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 2:

He's just trying to figure out what, you know, little chunks of free time he has when you're not

02:14:27 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 1:

going to be around. How far can you go back on a smart doorbell cameras? I mean, that's Cam. It's two weeks. I don't know what it is on Ring. I mean, that's something that we got to look at. Hang on. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. Olivia, he doesn't want to go back on the air with us, and I legally can't put him back on if he says no. Are you serious? Has he contacted you or reached out to you?

02:14:54 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 3:

no

02:14:56 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

all right hang hang for

02:15:00 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 3:

second we're gonna try to talk him into it okay okay thank you just tuning in with the war of the roses this morning so olivia suspected that her boyfriend was cheating with her roommate and she said that she saw that he was hanging out at their uh place at their house that they uh that they rent when she wasn't there and then some listeners had some interesting things like why is it that he was checking to see how long it was going to take for her to be home and then at that point why is he staying there why is he hanging out at the house and there's been some other you know conversations I guess of where are you how long are you going to be at work when are you going to be home and those are all things that you would think would just be just normal if you didn't have the suspicion that your significant was cheating on you but when they're possibly cheating, and he sends flowers to another girl. Tyler wants to make a comment here. Tyler thinks he's a big old dummy, and why is that, Tyler?

02:16:04 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, why would he send flowers to the same house that Olivia lives at? Oh, my gosh. The roommate wasn't there.

02:16:10 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 3:

But you know what, though? We do it as a we're going to send you a text thing, so the message is not really on the flowers, just so you know that. The message is actually on the text that we send back to them. So I don't know necessarily.

02:16:24 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 2:

I mean, but you're right. It's still. I mean, why would you send flowers to your girlfriend's roommate? Right. No.

02:16:30 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, why would you screw your boyfriend's or your girlfriend's roommate? You know what I mean?

02:16:34 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, exactly. Shame on my roommate, too.

02:16:37 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 3:

02:17:01 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how you doing?

02:17:03 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. What's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

02:17:06 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo. I was just calling to say that I think that was really, really ballsy behavior. Obviously, they felt comfortable with this. They had a few talks. He's making jokes. Oh, I'm your new best friend now. What time are you getting home? An hour? Oh, I could be there and do this and be out in an hour. I think it was really ballsy until he got caught. I think he needs to cut them both off.

02:17:24 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 3:

You know, it's funny. We all kind of add our own little conversation into it because none of that was ever said during the conversation we just had. But I get it. I was doing the same thing, too. I'm thinking to myself, once he put that thing of your new best friend, I started thinking to myself, okay, what does that mean? Your new best friend, you know?

02:17:43 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 1:

They've talked about it. They've joked about it. And he's like, I'm your new best friend now. I mean, come on. Let's analyze this a little bit.

02:17:48 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 3:

Right, right, right. Or that's kind of what they're going to play it off as. Oh, we're just friends. He won't go on the air with us, though. He's embarrassed because his family listens to the show, so he doesn't want to be on with us. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Hello. Who's this?

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're talking to me, Sarah?

02:18:10 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hi, Sarah.

02:18:11 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hi. Yeah, my now ex-husband slept with both my roommate and my sister.

02:18:17 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez. Whoa. Under your roof? Yes. Wow. So where were you? Where were you at the time? Working. How did he make sure that you were at work? Did he ever do that where he would text you ahead of time before they were messing around and say, hey, how long are you going to be at work?

02:18:37 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 2:

No. Okay, so me and my sister and my husband all worked at the same plant. And when I would go to work, he would sneak off and sleep with her. And then he would also, on the days that I worked shifts, that they didn't work.

02:18:53 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Talk about trust issues. And that's so orchestrated. Yeah.

02:18:58 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. I knew I'd talk about havoc being wreaked, but thank God I'm rid of him now.

02:19:04 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 3:

Did you find out about both of the cheating situations at the same time, or did you find out one first and then the other second?

02:19:12 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of a sticky situation. and I found out about them both at the same time right after we conceived my youngest son.

02:19:19 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez.

02:19:19 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 2:

So I was pregnant.

02:19:21 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 3:

And then you did. And found out. Did you, when the youngest son came about, did the other two get jealous of the fact that you were having a child with, the guy that they were fooling around with?

02:19:31 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, he was my husband, so they really had no room to get jealous. But I don't talk to my sister anymore, and the roommate is definitely gone. We stayed together for five years after that.

02:19:41 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Did the roommate know that your sister was fooling around and vice versa? Did they know each other was doing this?

02:19:48 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. They're still friends. You're kidding me.

02:19:51 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 3:

So were they ever fooling around all together as a group?

02:19:55 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 2:

That I couldn't guarantee, but I wouldn't put it past them.

02:19:58 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wow. Yeah.

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 2:

That's like one, seriously, that's like one big daytime, you know, talk show, let's scream and yell at each other type moment. What's up, Jackie? Hi.

02:20:08 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning.

02:20:09 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 2:

We're talking about sleeping or cheating with somebody that lives under the same roof.

02:20:15 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 4:

My sister and I live together, and she actually slept with my boyfriend for four years.

02:20:20 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. And how did you finally find out?

02:20:24 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 4:

The funny part is, is that he would tell me, he was like, I'm sleeping with your sister. and I would ask her, and she was like, no, why would I do that? So because she was my sister, I believed my sister. Wow. But he was, did you think he was joking and trying to be funny? I did. I thought he was just, you know, being a smart butt or whatever. But no, later on, come to find out, my sister was like, I've been sleeping with him for four years.

02:20:50 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. What kind of sister is that?

02:20:52 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 4:

Are they together now? Right.

02:20:54 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 2:

No. Nope. I think it's kind of.

02:20:56 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 4:

I was just like, who does that? And then, you know, I'm sitting here feeling stupid because he actually was telling me the truth, and I'm telling him a liar.

02:21:05 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think he was telling you?

02:21:07 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

02:21:08 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 1:

Maybe he wanted out. Some kind of bold brazen shit thrill.

02:21:12 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 4:

But instead of breaking up with you, he wanted you to break up with him. Right. I don't know, but I was just like, I felt so stupid.

02:21:20 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Sam, what's going on? We're talking about this situation that just happened to Olivia, where she found out that her boyfriend is cheating with her roommate. And does this happen more than not, where somebody that's living under your same roof starts cheating with your significant other?

02:21:37 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I had a good friend that was going through a divorce and didn't have a place to stay. He was staying in a hotel room. I was like, well, that's dumb. You can stay at our place. We have a guest room. And I came home one day and found them in bed together, him and my ex-wife now.

02:21:51 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Wow.

02:21:53 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 6:

Now they are married.

02:21:56 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait, they even married each other? They can't do that. That's brutal. It's one thing to have your heart broken, but then it's another thing to have it rubbed into your face every single time.

02:22:06 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 6:

So do you get invited to that wedding? Definitely not.

02:22:12 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 2:

You guys didn't have kids with each other, right?

02:22:14 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. We were married. We were together for over 10 years. We had a daughter together.

02:22:20 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 2:

So what's it like when you go pick your daughter up or drop your daughter off? You've got to see this bastard every time that you do that?

02:22:28 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he doesn't look over. He looks down at the floor of their car. Is it at your old house? Did she keep the house, or did you take the house? No. No, we both have moved out. We meet at just a meeting location halfway between the two.

02:22:43 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 2:

Sorry to hear about that, Sam.

02:22:46 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it happens. I'm happy now. It's all right.

02:22:49 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 2:

At least it wasn't your brother cheating. Like, honestly, I'm more fixated on those two colors about the sisters. Like, that is sibling. Isn't that crazy that that would happen? Ashley, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:23:01 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So, I end up getting in contact with a long-lost cousin. She lived out of state. She ended up moving in state. I let her live with me, and she slept with my fiancé. um and the crazy thing is i found out on we have video cameras outside of our outside the house because we live in a house at the time and you know it's the kind that you could rewind five four pause record she didn't know i was rewinding it to see something with a package that had got delivered and just so having to see them kissing on the porch oh my god well that's why i did you

02:23:37 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 2:

hear me ask uh olivia uh before we made the phone call did you look at the camera to see like if he looked back or he did anything like when he was leaving and she said that she saw him look back and kind of look at but you wonder if maybe they embraced inside of the house not in front of

02:23:53 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 5:

the camera you know but the crazy thing is she knew he had cameras such a i'm so hurt by it and and then to find out because then he's trying to get me back and i considered it as being crazy i considered it and now find out she's six months pregnant by him

02:24:10 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 1:

yeah don't do that the emotional toil that like you hear this and you go why would you ever consider taking her back or the last color it said i we tried to work it out for five years after that like you're so deeply and emotionally involved in this person you're willing to put aside such a crazy offense that he's sleeping with someone under your own roof like your own blood flesh and blood and relatives or best friends it's crazy all right war of the roses

02:24:34 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 3:

here on the mojo in the morning show how well do you know these songs and who will win the throwback throwdown mojo in the morning's throwback throwdown is tomorrow morning at eight on mojo in the morning mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 first though let's

02:24:54 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 2:

get the dirty on the 30 and a phone scam in and shannon what do you got trending this hour well

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

tiger woods and his girlfriend her name was

02:25:00 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 3:

Erica Herman are over and there's some drama here that we need to talk about. She's actually now suing Tiger for more than $30 million claiming he cooked up this plan to evict her from the home that they've been sharing together for the past couple of years. So according to some new legal docs that were filed, Erica and Tiger actually broke up in the fall. So it's been a couple of months now. They had been living together in his Florida home for the past almost six years during which time, Erica says in these court docs, she performed quote-unquote valuable services for Tiger in exchange for living there rent-free. She admits that she doesn't have their little agreement in writing. They talked about it. They shook hands. He gave her his word. That was that. Well, now she is suing Tiger's Trust for $30 million because she claims that's the reasonable rental value of Tiger's house for the remaining five years on their little agreement. How much again? $30 million.

02:26:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 4:

$30 million. That's how much she needs for a rental.

02:26:03 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 3:

Yep. And here's like the other sticking point here. Erica is asked to be removed or released from her NDA, citing a law that allows non-disclosure agreements to be voided if there's proof of sexual assault or harassment. But so far, she has not made any specific allegations of assault or harassment, at least not in these court documents.

02:26:24 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys remember that his divorce from Elan made him pay like $100 million, I believe it was, or something like that? Which was like, at the time, one of the most expensive divorce settlements ever. I mean, obviously, it was blown out of the water by Jeff Bezos, who I think paid over $40 billion or something like that. But this is an interesting one. I'm intrigued by the fact that he moved her out of the place, she says. But basically what he did was he sent her on vacation. And then as soon as he sent her on vacation, he changed the locks on the place.

02:26:59 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:27:00 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 4:

It's wild. I wonder what the story was and why they split up or what happened.

02:27:04 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sure she'll be talking if she can get this NDA removed. We'll see. Real Housewives, Giselle Bryant and Robin Dixon are still fighting with Eminem. They are still trying to fight his motion to block their trademark application for the name of their podcast, Reasonably Shady. So these ladies are from the Real Housewives of Potomac, by the way, and they're asking for Marshall Mathers' opposition to be denied, saying, come on, nobody's going to confuse our little podcast with the Real Slim Sadie. And if you remember, last year we talked about this briefly. The Bravo Leberties, that's what they're called in Bravo, filed to trademark their podcast name with the intent to begin selling all sorts of products affiliated with it. Eyeshadow, lip gloss, water bottles, jackets, sweatshirts, you get the idea. But just last month, Eminem said he believed his brand would be damaged, arguing that consumers might actually be confused if they kept going in trademarking the name of their podcast, Reasonably Shady.

02:28:05 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 4:

Can you do that? I mean, can you basically just take the word shady and say that you can't?

02:28:10 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. It's got to be similar in usage, or if the logos on theirs look similar to logos that he sells.

02:28:18 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so they might get away with it here.

02:28:20 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

If they're not the similar brand, you know? If they were putting out a rap album and they used the word shady, of course they could. But doesn't he have a shady clothing line? Well, that's what I'm wondering. Does the shady clothing line represent, does he have the word shady on it and stuff? I'm sure. Yeah, it's like shady limited or something like that. Yeah, I mean, the popular culture has used the word shady long before Eminem was shady, slim shady. So I don't know what they're going to argue in that case. But you have to show it's damaging your brand. And I don't know if Marshall can prove that this little podcast selling merch is going to damage his brand.

02:28:50 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 3:

Cole Sprouse appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and opened up about the highs and lows of his personal life lately, including losing his virginity when he was just 14 years old. And also he talked about his relationship with Riverdale co-star Lily Reinhardt, a relationship he says should have ended way sooner than it did.

02:29:10 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 1:

I think if I had loved myself a little more, I probably would have left a little earlier. But I just felt like I had to take care of a lot of people around me.

02:29:25 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 4:

Megan, what's the story about the losing the virginity part?

02:29:29 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 3:

Do you have it, Shannon? I didn't pull the audio from it.

02:29:32 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 2:

Essentially, he was 14 years old, and he was trying to hook up with this, what he describes as an older lady. I think she was like 16 or something. He was on a family vacation. Yeah, and he had to kick his brother and his friends out of their hotel room and say, I'm bringing somebody back. He walked past them and said something along the lines to the girl like, do you want to play a game of chess? And that was his pickup line. It was like, we're going to go play chess. And 20 seconds later, it was over.

02:29:57 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Maybe KP needs to use it on jet.

02:30:00 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 1:

as a way, huh? To finally get him to... By the way, comments are still coming in right now. I feel like everybody's team KP on that from earlier

02:30:10 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 6:

this morning. You can hear that whole conversation on our podcast. Oh, you gotta

02:30:14 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 1:

go back and listen to that. KP and Jed, another almost hotel moment

02:30:20 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 5:

with those guys. You know, Joe caught us arguing on camera the other day during his show. Oh, really? Yeah, I wonder if he has that save somewhere.

02:30:28 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 1:

You two guys. You guys aren't even in a relationship, and you guys argue like you're in a relationship.

02:30:32 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 5:

He grinds my gears.

02:30:33 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 1:

He grinds my gears.

02:30:35 - 02:30:35 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:30:36 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my. You guys are made for each other. Why did these guys? Seriously, they would have every old saying, old person saying, perfect.

02:30:43 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 5:

Yesterday, it was like, it's like white on rice.

02:30:45 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, what does that mean, Jed? And now you're going to start using it. Literally. And lastly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do want their kids to be recognized as Prince and Princess. and King Charles is officially honoring it. I just saw the names have been changed on the Buckingham Palace website. In the announcement of their daughter's christening, they noted that little Lily Lilibet was christened and will now be known as Princess Lilibet.

02:31:12 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 1:

Any bad things you hear about Prince Charles, just remember this. They're going to get the names. They're true. Congratulations. Nice job, Grandpa.

02:31:19 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 5:

Do you mean anything you hear about King Charles that's bad is true? Is that what you meant to say?

02:31:24 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 1:

Something like that.

02:31:25 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. For all of today's dirty, check out the dirty page on TheDirtyInTheMorning.com.

02:31:30 - 02:31:31 | Unknown:

Good morning.

02:31:31 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes. Go ahead and laugh at Spike's world-famous phone scam. But are you next?

02:31:42 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 4:

On Mojo in the Morning.

02:31:44 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is time now for a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning. Nicole had an incident in Las Vegas, and her husband wants us to phone scam her. Apparently, they went to Topgolf, and a golf club slipped out of her hands and hit a glass wall. Well, Spike is going to call and collect the damages. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:32:05 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:18 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 6:

Hello. Hi, this is Phil from ****** Insurance, calling for Nicole, please. This is Nicole. Hi, Nicole. I'm calling from the Claims Department about claim number 454-2001.

02:32:31 - 02:32:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, what is this about?

02:32:33 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 6:

This is about the golf club that damaged a door.

02:32:37 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you've got to be kidding me.

02:32:39 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm calling on behalf of Topgolf, who supplied the customer information to us. I'd like to get your side of the story, if you could, just for the insurance paperwork. Can you tell me what happened?

02:32:48 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 3:

I mean, sure. I mean, my husband took me and a bunch of friends. I've actually never even swung a club before, ever. I've never been golfing or anything. My first time. And, you know, really no big deal. I just swung it. It slipped out of my hand.

02:33:02 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 6:

And then it flew up behind you and hit the glass entranceway? Is that what I'm to understand?

02:33:07 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but I will say there's really no damage. And the manager told me everything was fine. I talked to the manager. He said, absolutely no big deal. You're fine.

02:33:14 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 6:

Right. Well, unfortunately, I mean, maybe he was trying to calm you down, but he doesn't have the right to say that. It's a corporate decision, and there was damage.

02:33:22 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 3:

I mean, there really wasn't. I mean, first of all, everybody's drinking, having fun. I can't imagine this is, like, not something you've dealt with before. I mean, it was a little ding in the door. I mean, it's nothing.

02:33:32 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 6:

We don't call it a ding when it's a glass door. We call it a crack, and then there was a scratch on the black handle, but it wasn't that bad maybe when you first did it. But after you left, the entire double door shattered when one of the staff members opened it.

02:33:46 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm sorry. There's so many people there, and everybody's drinking. I really can't believe that. I mean, it really was not that bad.

02:33:53 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 6:

Well, you're not taking this seriously. If you just think because you were drinking, that's an excuse to cause whatever damage you want, that's not how we operate.

02:34:00 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 3:

I didn't say that, but, I mean, I just feel like, of course, there are other people there. I mean, I just don't feel like this is because of me. Plus, the manager said no big deal. That's not for

02:34:10 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 6:

Ron to decide. This is a corporate matter because the damage exceeds $8,000 and it gets handed to us, their insurance provider, so now it has to proceed further beyond that. $8,000?

02:34:22 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 3:

That's ridiculous. No, no. I mean, this is... The two double doors,

02:34:26 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 6:

the glass entranceway had to be replaced.

02:34:29 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 3:

I really feel like This is ridiculous. Like, not paying for it. Like, isn't this what insurance is for, for accidents?

02:34:35 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 6:

Well, there's a high deductible that you're going to have to be responsible for, and then obviously we as an insurance company cover the rest. I'm not sure if you want to pay it out of pocket or apply it against, you know, a credit card or something.

02:34:46 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 3:

We're not going to be doing either of those. I don't know what to tell you, but this is just a freak accident.

02:34:51 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 6:

Okay, well, if you don't want to pay, this can get complicated. We were told that you were consuming alcohol.

02:34:56 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 3:

It's basically a bar. Everybody there is consuming alcohol. I don't know.

02:35:00 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 2:

feel like you could blame me right but my concern is the attitude you're using that as an excuse like you can come in and like a bull in a china shop cause whatever damage you want and then blame

02:35:08 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 5:

it on alcohol it's my first time ever holding a golf club it literally slipped out of my hands

02:35:13 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 2:

i really this is not my first time as an insurance agent trying to do my job and you're standing in the way of me doing my job totally unaware or unconcerned about legal action that can be taken i just would recommend that you pay the bill before it gets sloppy what would you take legal

02:35:29 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 5:

action for are you going to say that i threw a club against the door on purpose well willful

02:35:33 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 2:

destruction of property do you have an umbrella insurance policy to cover no i guess we can tell the police that you intentionally targeted an employee and fled the scene under the influence

02:35:43 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 5:

i didn't target anybody it doesn't seem like all the witnesses on the cameras would show that's what happened well the staff would say that don't threaten me don't do that to me someone in my party recorded the whole thing, including Ron saying that I was off the hook.

02:35:58 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you have a recording of it. That would be admissible as evidence. There's an easy and painless way for you to handle this. Let's add up the damage here and see what we're working with. Let's see. You're going to be responsible for... I'll tell you what. We'll also deduct $500 from the damage if you agree to use that money to take remedial golf lessons. You cannot be serious. Well, I'm very serious, but I'm not from Topgolf or the insurance company this is spike from the mojo in the morning show and you've just been phone scanned oh my god nicole your husband sent us an email and said uh you you had a little accident there

02:36:36 - 02:36:42 | Speaker 5:

at top golf well yeah that part really was my first time ever holding a golf club

02:36:42 - 02:36:45 | Speaker 2:

maybe this will be your last time at the driving range too

02:36:45 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 5:

i didn't even want to go this time he bribed me with mimosas

02:36:49 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show, and Shannon, I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only person with a big old S on top of my head saying sucker.

02:37:19 - 02:37:29 | Speaker 4:

It's both of us. Good. It's the random ads that play in between the Instagram stories of people that I know. Is that where you're a sucker? Or are you just a sucker all around?

02:37:29 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 1:

So mine is I scroll through Instagram and as I'm scrolling through it it goes fresh teas. I'm like oh what is fresh teas? T-shirts for fat guys. I'm like oh okay. So I was talking to Woody about this the other day, Woody, from the Woody show, you can hear on our iHeartRadio, and he and I both fell for the Fresh Tees Instagram ad, and now our wives are both really upset because we've got $800 in t-shirts at our house right now because of this.

02:37:59 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 4:

Are they expensive?

02:38:00 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

No, they're cheap. You just buy a lot of them? Yeah. A pack of three t-shirts cost $20, but I think I bought $800 worth of t-shirts. That's how many I have. I'm like, wow, these things fit really good.

02:38:12 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 4:

so so well this isn't t-shirts this is i kept and i kept seeing it over and over and over again and so finally i stopped on it and i watched the stupid thing um and it's like this cream that will help tighten the skin on your stomach and i've talked about this either on the show or the podcast i can't remember before but i've that's been a huge problem for me since having smith the kid absolutely wrecked my stomach i call it my alien stomach because it's so like it's so like wrinkly and weird now so even but even the the ad for this tommy cream is is stupid yet i fell for it this is i tried to record part of it on my phone this

02:38:53 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 3:

is it right here i think this is it oh yeah to this for less than 50 bucks my dermatologist told me loose like bad porn music muscles working out and losing weight weren't fixing it she She recommended this clinically proven belly firming cream that strengthens skin. Be flat by Maley's. Yeah, I'm like, I'm sold.

02:39:12 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 1:

Sold!

02:39:15 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 4:

They probably photoshopped the pictures and I'm like, oh, but I'm buying it. So $40 something dollars later, I just got it in the mail a couple of days ago. And I've been putting it on, which by the way, it burns if you bought it.

02:39:28 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 2:

It burns. Oh my lord. It burns. When you put it on. Did you look it up and do any other research? Like ratings, reviews? I read the reviews.

02:39:35 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 4:

I did read the reviews.

02:39:37 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Wait, reviews on their site? Or did you Google separate reviews? Because a lot of these Instagram ads, they'll show you reviews, but it's built into their own website to look like Google reviews.

02:39:46 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 4:

I don't remember.

02:39:49 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 1:

I fall for all these Instagram ads, and I know we all have different ones based on what we're into.

02:39:56 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

They're so good. And it's a pain because they hear you, what you're talking about.

02:40:00 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 3:

so they know what to advertise you for. Right. In my Instagram.

02:40:03 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, Megan, but by my Instagram ads, I should be a 97-year-old woman with all the stuff that I bought. What were you going to say, Meg?

02:40:13 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 8:

I have an Instagram ad arriving today. Oh, what did you do?

02:40:17 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 2:

What'd you buy?

02:40:18 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 8:

I'm getting some self-danner, but apparently it's customizable to your hair color, your eye color. Okay.

02:40:23 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 9:

Is that the slogan? I bought it. I don't know if it works. I know. That's why I bought it, and I already started the TikTok of my review because I'm going to be saying, you got me, bitches. It doesn't work.

02:40:35 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 2:

I think that the only thing that I realize with Instagram ads is after I make the purchase, I pray that it actually shows up because there are times where I feel like it's so shady that it shouldn't be there. And then I bank it with Chase, and I get the alerts all the time. Anytime I buy something on Instagram, I always get the Chase fraud alert. It comes off afterwards.

02:41:01 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, because a lot of those Instagram ads are fulfilling from China. So you may get the product, but it might be four months from now.

02:41:06 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So, okay, so you got your tummy stuff. Megan's got hers.

02:41:11 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 3:

I went into the Sunglass Hut in the mall last weekend, and all I said was, you know, I think I'll just get the Ray-Bans I saw at Costco. They were like half the price. And the next five days, every ad was for sunglasses on Instagram. It knew I walked in that store, and it knew I didn't buy them. And it was like every ad's for sunglasses.

02:41:32 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 2:

What is it, a geotracker or something that's in there? Is that what it is? It's nuts how that does that. It's crazy. Pam wants to tell Shannon something about that tummy cream. What's up, Pam?

02:41:44 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you? Hi, Pam.

02:41:47 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I bought that B-flat a couple months ago, and it does not work. Okay, okay. So here's the thing. Did it burn when you put it on?

02:41:55 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 3:

I had to dump her and dump the call.

02:41:59 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 5:

Because I'm like, and Megan, I feel like we get this way. We want to believe it's working. So I'm like, oh, the tingle means it's working.

02:42:07 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 6:

No, the tingle means you're having a reaction. It's kind of like those lip plumpers that are like, your lips are getting bigger, but it's not. It's just probably like an allergic reaction to something. That's the thing. Filler.

02:42:17 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 2:

And that's the thing with Shannon. Shannon, you got a million and one allergies. You shouldn't be just taking some kind of stuff that you buy off an Instagram ad.

02:42:25 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 7:

But I'm a sucker.

02:42:28 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 2:

By the way, those T-shirts I was telling you about, those fresh teas, I got the most horrible rash on my shoulders afterwards. I don't know. There's something to the cotton. But I know that people, like, wash them. If you wash the T-shirt, it falls apart.

02:42:40 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 3:

You know, Instagram ads are the new as seen on TV. They sell the stuff that's bad and cheap because they know if it was in the store shelves that they wouldn't carry it anymore because it doesn't get good.

02:42:52 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 5:

But this makes so much sense because guess who bought the perfect pancake? off of the TV. I'm raising my hand. And it racked my kitchen because the pancakes flew out the sides.

02:43:03 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 1:

Are you guys telling me that I can't get rid of my dad body with t-shirts because I'm pretty sure I saw that too.

02:43:10 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 7:

Jen wants to talk

02:43:13 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 2:

about the tingle. What's that, Jen?

02:43:16 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. No, that's normal. I don't know if they put niacin in it or whatever, but to get that tingle and kind of like a hotness, like a burning sensation, Yes. And then like a little bit of redness. I noticed like it's worse if you put it on right after you get out the shower. Yes.

02:43:30 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 5:

And that's what I do. It's so funny, Jen, because it brought me back to 17-year-old Shannon Murphy who was going to the tanning bed after high school. And we would all use that tingle suntan lotion. That's what it reminded me of. Like a level one and you're getting all burnt still. Yes.

02:43:49 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I can't do it no more.

02:43:52 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Hey, thanks for the call, Jen.

02:43:53 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 4:

Try not to do it when you don't get out the shower though It'll help

02:43:56 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad I'm not the only sucker

02:43:59 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 4:

She bought it too

02:44:00 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 3:

There's lots of suckers We're all suckers

02:44:03 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 2:

You know what though I think the thing that sells us on the thing Is that we think that it has It's like Do you have this? Do you have that? Yes! How did they know that about me? Not realizing that They're actually

02:44:18 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 6:

It's gotten to a point where I feel like it's reading my mind too I don't even say this out loud

02:44:23 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And this is this is very weird. Yeah. I didn't even search it either. Maybe I did. And I forgot. I don't know. No, it's crazy. I mojo in the morning. Mike, as a dad, is experiencing something that I experienced with Joe. Actually, Chelsea and I experienced with Joe and Milo's going through this phase right now. And I bet you that most parents have experiences with their their children. It's a phase, right? They go through different phases of things that they like to wear. And you can't fight them on it, Mike, because if you fight them on it, they always win. What's the phase?

02:44:58 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, and I...

02:45:00 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 4:

hope that it's a face and i i want to like hide them and see if he just forgets about them but you're probably right he's into wearing these blue sunglasses and i have no idea where he got them from but they're just these tiny little sunglasses that fit his face and it's you know it's started in the car and we're like oh you know this adorable and i again i don't know where he found these and we're like all right cool you know he's wearing whatever then we went to the dentist yesterday and he put them on at the dentist and i'm like dude you don't need them inside and he's He's like, no, I'm just going to keep him on. So I tried taking him off. Nope. Went through the whole dentist appointment with the sunglasses on. I'm like, okay, you know what? He must have saw somebody wear them and thought they were cool. So he's just going to keep them on. Oh, my God. This is so cute. Oh, sure. Yeah, it's adorable. So you're trying to go to bed. Look at how cute he is. Oh, sure. But when you're trying to go to bed and he's still wearing these sunglasses. Let him wear them. Well, I can't just let him wear them all the time. Why? Because he doesn't need to wear them all the time.

02:45:57 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, does it embarrass you as a parent that he's wearing them?

02:46:01 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 4:

Not really. I mean, not really, but, like, you don't need to wear sunglasses all the time. I don't know. My favorite thing is he's a rapper. He looks like a rapper. He does. Kind of. But it does remind me of when I was a kid. Because I think you're right, Mojo. I think every kid has a phase, and everybody's kid has a phase. And I remember when I was a kid, I really liked to wear this. This is embarrassing, but I really liked to wear this dragon necklace. Like, it had a dragon pendant on it. And it was because Cisco, I thought Cisco, the singer was cool.

02:46:29 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, stop. Was it that big?

02:46:31 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So I would wear it to, like, church. And I would wear it to, like, football games, like, playing in football games. I would wear it in the shower. I would never took this thing off. And it was rusted and old. Yeah.

02:46:44 - 02:47:55 | Speaker 3:

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. What did Joe used to wear? So Joe used to wear, he had a Captain America bike helmet. And he would never take it off. and he would walk around with a bike helmet no matter where he went. And we would, like, go to places. Like, I remember going to Applebee's one time, and he was wearing his bike helmet. And I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. We would walk in there, and people would walk up and go, oh, he is so cute. And they start talking to him. I'm like, oh, they think he's so cute. And he's got the bike helmet on. And I'm looking at Chelsea, looking at me. And then I go, Chelsea, do they think he, like, needs to wear the bike helmet? Like, are they looking at Joe? Are they looking at Joe and my son? Oh, the poor kid. And then what we tried to do to get him to not wear the bike helmet was, we realized, oh, it's because it was decorated Captain America. We would buy him Captain America stuff like the shield or buy him like Captain America, you know, a cape and stuff like that. And he wouldn't want to wear those. He just wanted to have the bike helmet on. There's something about him where, you know, when your kids have, Smith's got to be like that

02:47:55 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 2:

He's gone through so many phases Of things That little leaf blower he carried around I mean, Broger saw it, the nail salon saw it His school saw it A lip balm thing or something? A sunscreen stick Right now he has Remember the sunscreen stick was so funny Because he would even keep it in his pants When he played t-ball And his hands would always be in his pants When he was running bases And people thought he was adjusting himself But I'm like, nope, he's looking for his chapstick. Right now, Mike, he has carabiners attached to all of the belt loops on his pants. And it's killing me. Carabiners, do you know what those are? Like clips for, they're like... They hold stuff, right? Yeah, like some people use them to hold their keys, but you use them to clip in for rope climbing.

02:48:46 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 3:

Is it like the janitor? Our janitor at school used to have? You use them for rope climbing. Oh, really? The janitor had all those keys that were hanging from him.

02:48:54 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 2:

He keeps them on his pants, and then I keep washing them. And so I hear my washer. Yeah, it sounds like there's rocks in here. But he attaches bracelets and all sorts of stuff to them.

02:49:06 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Rhea, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:49:09 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sorry about that.

02:49:10 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hey. Hi, Rhea.

02:49:12 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:49:13 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what is it that your toddler does?

02:49:16 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 1:

um so it's new but he started wearing his like swimming goggles as sunglasses because he likes

02:49:23 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 3:

to see the blue oh yeah and do people like look at you guys funny because they see him wearing

02:49:29 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 1:

those no everybody thinks it's so cute like we just went to breakfast sunday and he wore him into the restaurant and then actually to the doctor's office on monday it's cute but it's

02:49:40 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

squeezing his brain those things are so tight i i remember uh jacob went through a costume phase where he always was wearing like his halloween costumes but like in june you know what i mean like he always had to have his halloween costumes on and i i don't know who it was i think it was chelsea's uncle matt got married or somebody in their family

02:49:59 - 02:50:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:50:00 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 3:

got married and he wanted to wear it to the wedding and you know how that goes all right you're trying to dress him up and make him look nice and they're like walking around it's like all of a sudden everybody's wearing really nice suits and and stuff like that and here comes spider-man either that or a tantrum so oh yeah which one's worse um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 or text is 95500. Going to do trending news, and then we're going to get done for today. We do have a big snowstorm coming our way tomorrow. I didn't look at Toledo and Grand Rapids, but is it just mainly hitting the Detroit area like that last one? Because I'm wondering if God's got something against us.

02:50:45 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 1:

No, we got a winter weather advisory from like 7 to 11 tomorrow morning.

02:50:51 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for like four to six inches. And driving to Chicago. I know. Did you see Chicago is supposed to get like 10 to 12 inches or something?

02:51:01 - 02:51:02 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:51:02 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 2:

But it should end by midday Friday, right? So you should be okay for the drives.

02:51:06 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm leaving immediately after the show.

02:51:09 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Yeah.

02:51:10 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 4:

Hopefully they'll be clearing it as it's happening. Maybe I'll fly. I really don't want to fly, but I might have to.

02:51:17 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

But then you're delayed. Here's the thing. Like, I almost think that you're better off driving but just waiting until after the storm. I don't know.

02:51:24 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 4:

I mean, the cleanup's not going to be there. It's still going to take me a long time.

02:51:27 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the last storm close down Detroit Metro Airport?

02:51:30 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 4:

Listen, if I miss another one of my plans, I will have a complete mental breakdown. Because I missed my plans last week, and I've had, like, three other events canceled last minute. Like, I need fun.

02:51:43 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 3:

You're not invited to Irish on Ionia just for this reason. Because if you are the reason that some bad weather forecast, if a hurricane hits Grand Rapids in a week, we're going to find out that it's you.

02:51:55 - 02:51:59 | Speaker 4:

It's always me. I'm the reason everything goes wrong ever.

02:52:00 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I'm going to tape that and send it to my sister, Pat, because Aunt Pat always thinks that she's the reason. I'm going to say, no, it's you and Megan, both of you guys. Maybe I'm the reason. Maybe I'm the common denominator.

02:52:11 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 1:

Go to the morning's top trending stories.

02:52:13 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 3:

All right. Top trending stories of the day. We'll go with just a couple of quick stories. One, did you guys remember that story about that six year old boy who shot his teacher in Virginia? Yeah. Yesterday, the Virginia Commonwealth's attorney general, Howard Gwynn, said they're not going to charge the six year old boy. According to Gwynn, the prospect of a six year old standing trial is problematic, believing that he's too young to understand the justice system. This is caused for outrage amongst people that work in the school community, not because they aren't charging him, but the school community, like especially that teacher that was shot that Abby's winner, who is the teacher of the six year old boy, feels that the school should be held in negligence because they knew that this kid came from a bad environment and had been threatening to other people in the school. and the possibility of them getting the weapon. The parents legally had the gun, but how did the six-year-old get the gun? They say that the parents are actually being very cooperative, but now people are saying, so instead of charging the six-year-old, charge the parents or the gun owner who had the gun for the ability of the six-year-old to be able to get it. Yeah. The dumbing down of America. You ready for this one? For the first time in nearly 100 years, Americans' average intelligence, our IQ, the intelligence quotient, is declining.

02:53:55 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 4:

No way.

02:53:56 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:53:57 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 4:

No way. You're telling me that people now know less than they did in the 1920s? No.

02:54:03 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Professors who author this study theorize that the quality of education could also be playing a role in the fact that IQ gains have actually gone down for the first time, they say.

02:54:15 - 02:54:27 | Speaker 2:

I think there's also a lack of curiosity. People just look, seek the story that they want to believe and then they don't want to hear any opposing like learn any more about a story than what they already know. Or how much

02:54:27 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 4:

of it has been we've learned how to use technology so we don't store as much of the information as we used to because it's easily

02:54:36 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

accessible i think that's it we used to memorize things or remember things and now we don't need to because we've got technology that does it i i realize this in my life right now like with just trying to figure stuff out at work i figure if i don't know how to do it i'll just google it and find a youtube that will show me in two seconds and the problem is then you don't actually

02:55:00 - 02:55:22 | Speaker 1:

They say that, ready for this one, a scary thought? Kids are not learning how to tie their shoes anymore. That is true. And the reason they say that they're not learning how to tie their shoes is because kids find it, like, stupid that they have to tie their shoes. So what they're doing is they're either having somebody else tie their shoes or they're not tying their shoes. They're just constantly putting the shoes on and off.

02:55:22 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 2:

My shoes have not been tied all morning.

02:55:25 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

02:55:26 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 2:

You know what's scary is I can't get somewhere without a GPS. That's what scares me. Same, girl. I rely on my GPS so much. Sometimes to get out of my neighborhood. Literally. I mean it.

02:55:37 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 1:

Here's a scary thought. You've heard of different cars being recalled. Well, they're going to have to do something about this. Tesla, the U.S. auto safety regulators, have opened an investigation into the Tesla Model Y SUV after getting two complaints that the steering wheels came off while driving. now this is only two vehicles but the national highway transportation safety administration says that they're going to probe an estimated 120 000 vehicles from the 2023 model the brand new model and find out if this is a more common thing and they're going to tell tesla that they have to go back in there and check out all these vehicles now i will say this to you that if you got a car and you just bought it and you're driving down the road i wouldn't know what to do with my steering All of a sudden you came off.

02:56:27 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 2:

You're already a bad driver with the steering wheel. I know.

02:56:30 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 1:

Abort mission.

02:56:32 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that's craziness. Just cross your arms. Whelp.

02:56:38 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Jeez. And where are the best places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day? This particular study did not say Grand Rapids, but we're going to say Grand Rapids.

02:56:49 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 2:

Number one is Grand Rapids. Ready for this? Can I guess a few?

02:56:53 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes, go ahead.

02:56:54 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 2:

Chicago, Savannah, Georgia, Boston, New York.

02:57:00 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 1:

Close. Pittsburgh.

02:57:01 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, New Orleans is always on there, too, strangely.

02:57:04 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 1:

Boston topped the list, followed by Philadelphia and Chicago in the top three. Pittsburgh and New York City rounded out the top five of the largest St. Patrick's Day traditions and celebrations in their cities.

02:57:17 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Philly. They don't really do that much in Philly.

02:57:20 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 1:

They don't have a big celebration there?

02:57:22 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 2:

Unless you're just counting alcohol sales. Well, that's all year.

02:57:25 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 1:

This is how they did it. They did it based on traditions, events, costs, safety, and accessibility and weather. Those were the ways that they did that.

02:57:36 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 2:

I do have my Phillies hoodie on today because you're going to bring us some luck. Are you going today or tomorrow to the Phillies spring training?

02:57:43 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 1:

So we're going to go. Jed and Tony and Tony's son, Christopher, and I are going to Clearwater today. So we're going to go see the game in Clearwater. And then we've got Lakeland. We're going to go see the Tigers. Oh, nice. So, yeah, we've got a bunch of them. So it's spring training in Florida and came down here for that. And if you've never been to a Tigers spring training, it's actually they should just have the season only be the month and a half or two months of spring training. Seriously. Tigers, by the way, actually are having a good spring training, aren't they? Not bad, yeah. So spring training is one of the most fun things. Like, if you ever look for a family thing to do and you guys are, you know, Tigers fans or baseball fans, come to Florida and go down to Lakeland, even though Lakeland's not the greatest of places.

02:58:25 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're only an hour from Disney or from Tampa, so it makes a nice travel fun.

02:58:29 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're kind of in the middle of two, so you can do Tampa, St. Pete for a day, or then you can go back to Orlando, to Universal, Disney. There's a lot to do.

02:58:35 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 2:

The fan experience, you really get up close and personal, your favorite players, and they often will come over and sign autographs or give you the ball.

02:58:43 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. One last story here about St. Patrick's Day. Leaders of the Catholic Archdiocese of America are now being asked by so many people to give dispensation on Friday, March 17th, a week from tomorrow, because it's Lent. You're not supposed to eat meat and it's corned beef and cabbage day. Everybody wants to eat corned beef and cabbage. So are they going to do it? God will forgive our sins. So, yes. So here's the thing. The Archdiocese of New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Cleveland have already pronounced that you can eat meat on that Friday. The Archdiocese of Detroit hasn't yet to come out to say whether or not they're going to allow you to do it.

02:59:25 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 2:

They always did in the past, but I'm pretty sure God cares more that you're a good person, not that you had some corned beef.

02:59:31 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. If you ever have seen me after eating corned beef.

02:59:35 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 2:

You're not a good person.

02:59:37 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:
