Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Coming up this morning, War of the Roses. Husband thinks that his wife is cheating in their own bed. And his evidence is pretty incriminating. Even more incriminating is what happens when we make the telephone call and who she sends the flowers to. Coming up, War of the Roses 740. Be listening for that. That's coming up at 740 today. The prizes are great, too. We got tickets this hour. to go and see Post Malone and Jelly Roll, then we will give you an opportunity to go to Disney World for you and your family. I was seeing Bianca hanging out in Disney World yesterday. It looks like

00:04:11 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 1:

a lot of fun. She looks so cute.

00:04:13 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, she was. Was that her as the princess or was that just. Yes.

00:04:17 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 1:

No, that was her as Princess Jasmine.

00:04:19 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. And then we got tickets for 313 Day to see the Detroit Pistons play as this week we celebrate Detroit and And, of course, the Pistons making playoffs, hopefully. We're keeping our fingers crossed on that one. This looks good. Your chance then later this morning to see Tate McCray's sold-out show. That's all coming up this morning. It's Mojo in the morning. Last night, Chelsea and I almost did it. We almost bit the bullet. And we almost did two days in a row of Dairy Queen. I get excited about the fact that the weather's been nice. And we almost did, you know, okay, let's do Dairy Queen. And I said, no, no, no. Better yet, we will cure the sweet.

00:05:00 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

tooth that both of us have and we will start finishing off the halloween candy that we still have i still have some halloween candy yeah throw that out bro why would you throw it out you first off there's so many preservatives in that candy they know that's i was saying it's march it came in the it's one of those boxes we bought the big box of the big candy from costco and so it's the multi-pack and it's got all the remaining candies that we didn't like to eat in october that we're still probably eating. You know how they do that, where it's like Snickers, M&M's, Twix.

00:05:34 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm with Kev. It's past its prime. It was probably ashy chocolate.

00:05:37 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

No, I looked at, first off, I look at expiration. Do you know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about. It's like white.

00:05:43 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 1:

You have until the 4th of July.

00:05:44 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. Well, no, quick question for you. When do you throw away canned pop? Canned pop is last for years. I don't drink pop. I don't know.

00:05:52 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 1:

See, pop to me doesn't go bad. It gets like less crispy. but chocolate to me gets that white coating on it and then it's bad what else are you using five

00:06:02 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

months later i use every first off i use uh lotions and soaps and all kinds of stuff that you eat

00:06:09 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 3:

barbecue sauce barbecue sauce no argument no name no all that my grandma still got stuff from the

00:06:14 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 1:

great depression gatorades yeah gatorades could be from 94 i'm still gonna drink it so well jordan

00:06:20 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

years well let me tell you that uh first and foremost this candy that's on the shelves right now at most of the convenience stores that you go and buy a piece of candy it's the same candy i bought at costco they just filled their shelves with it i had to blow the dust off some fruit

00:06:36 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

snacks in southfield the other day you got to go to a popular gas station that has lots of turnover

00:06:42 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 2:

of their crap food i'm telling you the only place that you're going to be getting fresh candy at is at Hershey's. That's the only place that they're going to have that thing. So I go inside the thing. And by the way, if you have a comment on this, I would love to hear your comments on the candy man over here who says that I'm not allowed to eat candy past a certain day.

00:07:05 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

If you don't play the Willy Wonka Candyman song.

00:07:08 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm actually going to play Aaron Carter. I want candy.

00:07:10 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 3:

You can't use your Halloween candy for Easter candy.

00:07:14 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what? You can't. It's too old. There are some parents that did.

00:07:21 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

Those Reese's pumpkins, multi-use.

00:07:24 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 2:

By the way, they just re-melt that chocolate down and make it into the shape of whatever it is. That's why everybody's sick. So last night, I go in and I go, oh, Chels, we don't have many options here. Only the Milky Ways were left. And she goes, Milky Way? She goes, what does a Milky Way taste like? And I go, what? I'm like, are you kidding me? Like, are you joking with me? She's never had a Milky Way? No, I've never had a Milky Way.

00:07:51 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 1:

I love Milky Way.

00:07:53 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

How do you not ever know what a Milky Way tastes like?

00:07:58 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Superior to Three Musketeers, by the way.

00:08:00 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

But not superior to Snickers. She says, what does a Milky Way taste like? I said, Milky Way tastes like a Snickers bar without the nuts. You know what I mean?

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if that's true.

00:08:10 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 2:

It is true. That's pretty much what it is.

00:08:13 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 1:

It's a baby of a Three Musketeers and a Snickers.

00:08:15 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's got lots of nougat inside of it.

00:08:20 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

That used to be my favorite candy when I was a child. They used to say I had the taste of an old man, though. They made it sound like Milky Way's. You had to be a certain age to have a Milky Way. You ever have a dark chocolate Milky Way? Garbage. No. I didn't know they made that. That's awesome. Is that the healthy addition? No.

00:08:36 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 2:

She opens the thing up. She looks at it, like, literally, like, what is this? Like, kind of, like, examining it. And then she bites into it. And I looked at her mouth, and her mouth looked like it was okay. Everything was good.

00:08:48 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 1:

Did the sides of her lips curl up into a smile?

00:08:50 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

She kind of likes it. Well, no, she sat there, and I was, is this stale? No. No. No, she ate it, and I was thinking to myself, I'm like, how is it that you could go your entire grown-ass life and never have had a Milky Way? Which surprises me sometimes when I hear that people have never had certain things.

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

People, you guys all go crazy when I say I've never had Sonic, and I've never had Raleigh's Checkers.

00:09:14 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but that's not that odd. Rally's Checkers and Sonic are offshoot places. You don't go eat at night.

00:09:21 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 3:

Bro, are you kidding me? They're not McDonald's.

00:09:23 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 2:

Rally's and Checkers, those are the ones you go to when the McDonald's line is too long.

00:09:30 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 3:

Regardless of whether or not there are a ton of them, there are certain places that have certain things that you have to have. And Rally's fries, I don't care if it's one in the state, you have to go there and get them.

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's awful. Do you also eat at a Hardee's too?

00:09:46 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 1:

I've had Hardee's before Hardee's is the same as Carl's Jr.

00:09:50 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

I don't know I think so Angela what's up It's Mojo in the morning

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what else lasts forever

00:09:59 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

What's that?

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

Hot sauce. Hot sauce. That's right. You're right.

00:10:04 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 5:

Even when it's crusty around the top, it is still good. Hot sauce.

00:10:11 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's because of what is it made of. It's made of, like, vinegar and a bunch of, like, I don't know, jalapenos or something.

00:10:18 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 5:

Canon would say it's made of everything is bad for you. So.

00:10:22 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I think that stuff is, I think hot sauce.

00:10:25 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 1:

I think hot sauce actually is not bad for you at all.

00:10:27 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 4:

Question for you, Angela. Would you eat a candy bar from Halloween right now?

00:10:34 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 5:

I just did. I had a Snickers the other day. I found in my granddaughter's little Halloween little thing. And there was no whiteness on it at all, and it was great.

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 4:

It satisfied, right?

00:10:48 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, to me, to Easter. And then Easter to Christmas. Sure. You know, that's the way it goes.

00:10:54 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 4:

Snickers still satisfies, even if it's stale.

00:10:57 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 5:

we're okay with it right yeah well mine wasn't but i've never had a stale snickers stick them

00:11:03 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

in the freezer they even last longer i think honestly i think even a stale snickers bar is better than a cauliflower you know what i mean can i tell you something yeah i'll be talking to

00:11:16 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 5:

you guys because even though i my radio my old-fashioned radio mojo does not work in the new building that i'm at oh no what oh yeah so i have to listen to the great app i heart it's sad the delay's sad you know it's a little bit too delayed but but that's why

00:11:38 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 4:

that's why we do we do the contest of a 95th caller because it gives us enough time to get everybody involved post malone tickets yes that's and text contest too everybody's open for that one because that's all random. I know. Enjoy your chocolate. Don't listen to them, guys.

00:11:56 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 5:

I know. These guys, you know what?

00:11:58 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 4:

Don't steer him the wrong way. They're all rich. They're bougie and rich. They throw away good stuff.

00:12:03 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Godiva for all of them. Godiva is garbage too, by the way. I would rather have Snickers than have Godiva. I am not that tense.

00:12:13 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 5:

The Russell Stouffers, we were in Dundee because my grandson took regionals. We're on our way to state. That's awesome. Russell Stouffers. Go online. They got like 50% off all their Valentine's Day stuff.

00:12:28 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 1:

Ooh. Thanks for that tip.

00:12:30 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 4:

These guys won't touch it. It's old. The holiday has already passed. Can I tell you something? I also love Saunders too. Saunders is the best.

00:12:40 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 5:

Who is that? Remember back in the day, you go get the cream puff with the white. I loved that. Oh, the Saunders. It used to be in the Penobscot building. Shout out to the Penobscot.

00:12:51 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

I never had a Saunders. That cream puff? Saunders? You never had Saunders? No, where did Saunders say? Whatever you say. No, Saunders. Is it better than Ghirardelli? Yes. Ghirardelli's good, though. Ghirardelli's really good stuff. Saunders is to Detroit what Ghirardelli is to San Francisco. We got to get some Saunders. And do you ever remember, whatchamacallit, the bumpy cakes? You ever had a bumpy cake? Yeah, the fresh ones from there.

00:13:15 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Megan go crazy for that. I do go crazy for Bumpy Cake. You saw me when I was at Mad Nice. Okay, shout out to Mad Nice. They make their own Bumpy Cake in-house. Is it good? It is phenomenal. Everyone was baking. It's so good. It's so good. I'm sorry. I can't afford Mad Nice, and I will go into debt for that Bumpy Cake.

00:13:32 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:13:36 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 3:

00:13:38 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

What year did this stuff happen?

00:13:39 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 4:

It all happened in the same year. What year was it? Gwyneth Paltrow was on trial for a collision that took place on a ski slope in Utah.

00:13:49 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

She's being sued for $300,000 over claims that she crashed into a retired autometrist at a ski resort. But Paltrow is countersuing for a symbolic $1, claiming the man actually caused the accident.

00:14:02 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 4:

Moana was the big movie.

00:14:05 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Maui, shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, I am Moana.

00:14:10 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Hero of men. It's actually Maui shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, Hero of Men. I interrupted from the top, Hero of Men.

00:14:19 - 00:14:19 | Unknown:

Go.

00:14:20 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 3:

And the big song was...

00:14:23 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

There's something in the air today because I actually want to play this song today. You guys get it. It came up randomly in my car yesterday when I was driving with the windows open on a 65-degree day. It was awesome. What year was it? We'll set you up with a prize. It's the Mojo in the Morning, back in the day. And I hope you know, I'll never let go.

00:14:49 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 3:

we love our mojo back to mojo in the morning.

00:15:18 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 2:

It's mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year was this?

00:15:22 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 5:

When it's Paltrow got in some legal hot water over a collision on the slopes in Utah,

00:15:27 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 1:

She's being sued for $300,000 over claims that she crashed into a retired autometrist at a ski resort. But Paltrow is countersuing for a symbolic $1, claiming the man actually caused the accident.

00:15:40 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 5:

Moana was the big movie.

00:15:42 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Maui, shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, I am Moana.

00:15:47 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 4:

Hero of men. What? It's actually Maui, shapeshifter, demigod of the wind and sea, hero of men. I interrupted from the top, hero of men. Go.

00:15:57 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 5:

And the big song, Cold Water from Justin Bieber. What year was this? We'll set you up with the prize. Alyssa, have you got it?

00:16:08 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 4:

It was 2016.

00:16:10 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 5:

Congratulations to you. Thank you very much. Have the best time. Enjoy, okay?

00:16:40 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Thanks.

00:16:41 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 5:

Bye-bye. We're going to give you Post Malone tickets. You want to win tickets to Post Malone, Jelly Roll, text Ford, as in Ford Field, where the show is going to be, to 95500. Text Ford, F-O-R-D to 95500, standard text and data rates to apply, and you'll have a chance to win. Good luck.

00:17:03 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 4:

New tariffs on the Dirty on the 30 comes with hidden fees and emotional baggage coming up in seconds on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:17:13 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 5:

Actually, we will do it right now. What's going on, Shannon and the Dirty?

00:17:15 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 6:

Well, Elon Musk giving an update on a massive cyber attack on X yesterday. You may have experienced some sort of outage if you are a frequent X user, which, Kev, I know you love X. In an interview yesterday, I think it was with Fox Business, he admitted that they're still not quite sure what exactly happened.

00:17:35 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 2:

We're not sure exactly what happened, but there was a massive cyber attack to try to bring down the X system with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.

00:17:44 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 6:

There was a group known as the Dark Storm Team that claimed responsibility for this, but that has not been confirmed. And I don't know anything about that group, but I saw that name out there.

00:17:53 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 5:

of ukraine last night like literally as we were coming in this morning there were the most drone attacks since that war began on russia from ukraine so i think that there were hundreds like 300 or something like that drone attacks that took place in the middle of the night which is going to be probably the biggest news story this morning as you're waking up and we'll

00:18:14 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 6:

have to keep our eye on that an alleged victim who has sued diddy in the past is now accusing NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and a comedian by the name of Drewski of gang raping her in 2018 with Diddy. Did you hear this story?

00:18:28 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 3:

I read the documents. The allegations are crazy.

00:18:31 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 6:

Crazy. So the former New York Giants wide receiver allegedly took part in this violent sexual assault of Diddy accuser Ashley Parham inside of a California home. This is back in 2018. during the alleged rape the other defendants so Diddy and this comedian allegedly referred to Odell Beckham Jr. as Cornelius that's his middle name and this the victim finally figured out that it was Odell like she was finally putting all of the pieces together and that's why this is coming out now now OBJ took to X last night to dismiss the allegations saying he was nowhere near this home or the town that this home was in at that time he said he's never actually even visited that area he also said quote i've never done anything like that i would never do anything like that to anyone i'm confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed i can't even really detail the allegations because they're so bad yeah where's he at by the way is he

00:19:34 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 5:

playing for somebody right now i believe he's a free agent right now okay this is interesting

00:19:38 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 3:

And then Drewski also took the Twitter ex and said in 2018 he was still living with his mom, broke in Atlanta.

00:19:45 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but that doesn't mean he can't travel.

00:19:47 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 3:

I mean, him saying he was broke in Atlanta means he wasn't a celebrity and didn't have access to Diddy and a Diddy party. That was his reason for saying that. Interesting.

00:19:57 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 6:

If you are a longtime Real Hells...

00:20:00 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Fives fan. Tamara Judge has quit the Orange County cast for good. She did it in the middle of a cast trip. She wrote on Instagram, it was a long run, but when life gives you real problems, this reality spit doesn't make sense. Peace out. I'm out. She's been on the show since season three. I don't know what quote unquote real spit she's been dealing with. I do know she is very, very close with her fellow housewife, Teddy Mellencamp, who is experiencing surgery to remove several tumors from her brain as of late. So whether it's that or something else, she is no longer a part of the show. And I love the videos that parents post of themselves surprising their kids with trips to Disney World. And you always expect this big, over-the-top reaction. Not the case for this family yesterday.

00:20:49 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 6:

Do you guys want to go to Disney World?

00:20:51 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to come? Should we do that or go to dad's work? Should we go on the airplane right now? Or should we go to dad's work?

00:20:58 - 00:20:58 | Unknown:

Dad's work.

00:21:01 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. You spend months and so much money planning on the trip and they would rather just go to dad's work.

00:21:05 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 2:

Where does he work? Yeah.

00:21:09 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, get yourself caught up on the podcast by searching Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app and then add us to your presets while you're at it too.

00:21:17 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 6:

Hey, and next hour, we have a trip to Disney. We're going to give you a chance to win. So you can do that. Or if you want to come to Dad's work, you can come down here to the radio studios.

00:21:25 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 1:

Go. Celebrity jerked. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Psst. He's cheating. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 7.40 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:41 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 6:

I was watching just a second ago outside of our studio window as Megan was just walking from one of the studios down the hall. And I actually just asked Shannon just a second ago, I said, does Megan got something big going on today? She goes, I have no idea. And I'm like, wow. I think we need to have a photo shoot done today.

00:22:05 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 2:

Stop!

00:22:07 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 6:

No! Do you see her today? Did you notice?

00:22:10 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 2:

That's like a Wimbledon baddie. I'm serious.

00:22:13 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 5:

Are you going to play tennis? No, but you know what it was? It was, oh my God, it's one day where I don't have to wear pants. I hate pants. I'm a skirt girl.

00:22:22 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 6:

This is all about pants? Your hair, your dress, your makeup, everything?

00:22:28 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 5:

Do you want the real answer?

00:22:29 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 6:

Come on, you got a date, don't you, after the show? Do you? Come on, tell us.

00:22:34 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 5:

Maybe I do.

00:22:35 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 6:

Come on.

00:22:35 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go play pickleball later, you gentlemen. Why are you really? Are you really? God, no. Pickleball is the stupidest thing that has ever existed in the history of the world.

00:22:42 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 4:

You say that because you haven't played it so far.

00:22:44 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 5:

No, no. I said that until I played, too. I don't need to play badminton to know that's stupid, too.

00:22:49 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 6:

Badminton is fun. No, it is not. What is going on? What do we got going on here today?

00:22:55 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Maybe it's a hot day.

00:22:57 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 6:

Seriously. Honestly, did you wake up today and just feel yourself, or did you just go, all right, I got something going on today. I got to get ready.

00:23:04 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 5:

I got something going on today.

00:23:06 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Do you? All right. Can we speculate on this?

00:23:09 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, go ahead.

00:23:09 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 6:

All right. I would like the listeners to speculate. What does Megan have going on today? Is this just, you know, I'm dressed up for like a, she got a photo shoot. Does she got a date with some hot guy that she's. I think I know what it is. Does she, what do you think it is?

00:23:26 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 2:

I think it's weather related.

00:23:27 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 6:

What do you mean?

00:23:28 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 2:

I think when it starts to get hot outside, people start to feel great and they want to embrace their sexy summer or in Megan's case, sexy spring.

00:23:37 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 6:

Really?

00:23:38 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 5:

No, I have something going on. Okay.

00:23:40 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 6:

All right, I want to know. Lydia, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want listeners to speculate on this thing. I want to know what Megan's got going on that she's all dressed up like this. Because any time that anybody gets dressed up around here, I just assume that they've got a job interview later today.

00:23:59 - 00:24:11 | Speaker 5:

By the way, how low does the bar have to be for me to wear tennis shoes, a tennis skirt, and a windbreaker, and you guys would be like, Oh, my God. She's so dressed up. What is the bar that I set?

00:24:11 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. Well, no, I think what it is, though, is I think that it's out the norm. I never have seen this outfit on you before. And not that I've seen duplicate outfits or I've noticed them. I literally don't even notice, unfortunately, when my wife wears that outfit and I don't even know what's going on. But I've never seen you like this before. And I noticed the hair, like, as soon as you walked in. And I'm like, look at the hair. What did you, does that, what does it, tell me about, tell me about the hair.

00:24:39 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 5:

I crimped my hair.

00:24:40 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 6:

You crimped it?

00:24:41 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 5:

I crimped it.

00:24:42 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 6:

What kind of a, what kind of a job does crimping take?

00:24:45 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 5:

Uh, huh?

00:24:47 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 6:

Like what does it take to crimp? Is it a lot of work?

00:24:50 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 5:

No, it was faster than curling it, which is why you did it.

00:24:53 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Yeah. And is crimping, is that that flat iron thing?

00:24:57 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 5:

It's the one that has all the barrels in it.

00:24:59 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I think I.

00:25:00 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

seen that before it's a dance that the blue gang does i crimp walked this morning no i i i like it i like the hair this way do you guys like the hair this way what are your thoughts i like it that's different yeah shannon and i got a client thing after the uh the show is over with and it's funny because we both got dressed up and then i saw megan and i'm going oh megan's coming with us and then i said to lydia i go lydia is she coming with us and she goes i she goes she wants to she can but uh then i thought to myself i'm like man and then there's cav over here i was

00:25:29 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 5:

about to say i must look like him when we go live when we go live today i want everybody to look at

00:25:39 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 2:

it i want you to see who worked hard today and who didn't work hard and how do we sound that's the only thing you should get amen amen shelly what do you think what do you think megan's got

00:25:48 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 1:

going on today she's dressing up to go see steve gabara today oh you think so wait a second are

00:25:56 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 2:

Are you saying that there is a chance that Megan's got a hot date with that hot Stevie G?

00:26:02 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:26:03 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Really? Okay. Mojo in the Morning, driven by me, Steve Gabara.

00:26:07 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Zot Ford.

00:26:07 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Yeah.

00:26:10 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 1:

That's my guess.

00:26:11 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you know for a fact that that's not the case because that guy just wears a golf shirt and golf pants all the time. But when he pulls up in a Corvette, that is true.

00:26:19 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 5:

That's when I'm in heels. That's when I'm in heels.

00:26:22 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Art, what's going on? What do you think Megan's got going on today that she's all done up?

00:26:27 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 6:

I feel like she's just bringing her sexy back. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Okay, just, just, just. Hey, no, hey, she's just feeling herself. That's what I feel. It's like a dog-dog commercial right in the middle of our brain. Yeah, wait a second.

00:26:42 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 2:

You're feeling that?

00:26:42 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:26:44 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey, no, my wife has shown me old pictures and stuff like that, so, I mean, I see.

00:26:49 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right. Just bringing a little sexy back today. Hey!

00:26:54 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 5:

00:26:56 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

00:27:19 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 6:

What's happening Megan's extra bubbly today. She's got a date for sure.

00:27:25 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 2:

You think so? Yeah. Yeah. You can kind of tell. Like, there's something. There's a little... I'm going to sound like my grandma pepping her step. Like, she's got a little pep in her step going on today.

00:27:35 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 5:

I cannot wait to tell you what's actually going on because you're all going to die.

00:27:38 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to reveal it now or no?

00:27:40 - 00:27:41 | Speaker 5:

I can tell you now.

00:27:41 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, go ahead. All right.

00:27:42 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Can I get a drum roll?

00:27:43 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hold on. Let me get it for you.

00:27:44 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 4:

I am super dressed up.

00:27:46 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 2:

Pull up the drum in the back of the room here. All right, go ahead.

00:27:48 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 4:

And I did my makeup and my hair this morning to go. To the dentist

00:27:55 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 3:

Is your dentist hot? She's very beautiful and married No

00:28:01 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second Really? This is the dentist look? You're wearing a skirt to the dentist?

00:28:09 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 5:

It's a tennis skirt You guys are acting like I have my boobs out I'm wearing tennis shoes and a tennis skirt

00:28:16 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm saying you gotta lay there in a skirt And make sure you're not flushing There's built-in shorts Okay. All right. I mean, right? You should see my poor dentist. I literally, I bring slippers in my purse to put on during the appointment.

00:28:29 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 2:

You know what you need to do, though? This, this, after the dentist, you got to just go have, enjoy the weather and stuff, be outdoors or something. I don't know.

00:28:36 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to be in Toledo. All right. I have to go on a date.

00:28:38 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Single guys, single guys in Toledo, hang out at dentist's office. Is who it is, Bob, right?

00:28:43 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 6:

Shout out Dr. Pinchel. Make it. She's the best. And don't you forget it. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:28:53 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 2:

5 at 6.55, yeah, 5 at 6.55, go now. All right, Erica's going for 11 wins today. Let's go. 11 on 11. Let's do it. All right, Haley is your challenger. Let's do it already.

00:29:05 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:29:07 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 2:

Haley from Muskegon is the challenger. She works at the Starbucks inside of the Target. Which Target? Which Starbucks Target?

00:29:16 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 1:

It's in Muskegon.

00:29:17 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 2:

Nice. Well, shout out to you, Erica. Say hello to Haley. There's one.

00:29:22 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Haley.

00:29:23 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to lock you up in a soundproof area here. Let's get this contest started. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Haley, I always wondered this one. Are the Starbucks targets the same Starbucks as the regular Starbucks? Or am I getting anything different? Is the flavor a little different? Because I feel like it is sometimes.

00:29:45 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 1:

It just depends on the barista, honestly.

00:29:47 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:29:48 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 1:

And what they put in the drink.

00:29:49 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 2:

You guys are trained the same way, though?

00:29:52 - 00:29:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:29:53 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 2:

All right, good. All right, here we go. Question number one. Champagne Poppy is hinting to fans that his next...

00:30:00 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 1:

chapter might make some people uneasy. Who is he better known as? Three seconds. Alright, question number two. Macy's announced it's closing several stores in our listening area by the end of the year. What color is the star in the Macy's logo? Red. Question number three. Neo introduced his four girlfriends from his polygamous relationship. Polyamorous. Well, it could be polyamorous or it could be polygamous. Who knows? Polyamorous relationship. Which of these songs isn't Neo singing? Okay, which one of these songs is Neo not singing? A, So Sick, B, You and Dat, or C, Closer? B. Question number four. On today's date, in 2020, this disgraced movie producer was sentenced to more than two decades in prison for criminal sexual assault and rape. Who is he? Pass. Okay, and question number five. J.B. Bickerstaff was named the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month recently. Yeah. Who was the Pistons coach last year? These are tougher questions. Oof. Pass. Pass on that one. All right, let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. I think this might be a 0-0 tie. Who knows? How did Haley do? Two out of five. Yeah. You know what? It was a struggle. I'm not even going to play one of these dumb drops because I would have missed questions number one. Really? No, you would not have missed question number one. I think I would have. I didn't even know that. Question number one, question number four, and probably question number five. Play the drop. Am I so dumb? Jesus Christ, I met some dumb bastards in my time, but you outdo them all. Let's see what Erica does. Sorry, Haley. Let's see what Erica does. Question number one. Champagne Poppy is hinting to fans that the next chapter might be a little uneasy for some people. Who is he better known as? Drake. Yes. One or nothing. Would not have known that. Question number two. Macy's announced it's closing several stores in our listing area by the end of this year. What color is the star in the Macy's logo? Red. Yes. Two to one. Question three. Neo introduced his four girlfriends in his polyamorous relationship. Which of these songs is not a Neo song? A, So Sick, B, You and Dat, or C, Closer? You and Dat, B? Yes. Three to two. That is, that's, what's his name? T-Pay. And no, who is the rapper? E-40. E-40, yes. Question number four.

00:32:54 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

On today's date in 2020, this disgraced movie producer was sentenced to more than two decades in prison for criminal sexual assault and rape. Who is he? Weinstein. Yes. Four to two. And question number five, if you get this right, then I know you're a cheater. J.B. Bickerstaff was named the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month recently. He's the coach of the Pistons. Who was the coach of the Pistons last season? three seconds three i don't know pass monty williams we all forget thank god we forgot he's still getting paid a lot of money there you go win nice job winner winner 11 dinner all right winner number 11 there you go congratulations to you nice win good work uh erica we do have a parting uh or i'm sorry hayley we do have a parting gift for you we're going to set you up with a prize here we got uh good stuff what is it uh i forgot what the hell it was again something good ford's garage ford's garage that's right yeah i'm gonna go there so bad it is so good we'll go to the one in nova that's the one that uh is closer to me yeah my brother just went to that one yeah it's right there uh ford's garage by where the movie theater is. Yeah. Imagine. All right. Hold on one second. Hold on. It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live. Mojo in the Morning. Megan just said something interesting. I want you to say on the air right now about guys these days because I think this is interesting. And I agree with you on this. I'm going to say right off the bat, I do agree with you. What's that? So it's funny that we just joked about do I have a D to do?

00:35:00 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 5:

day because I have been dating a lot more than I normally have recently and one of the things that I have found disturbing feels like kind of a dramatic word and I will acknowledge that but kind of disturbing is the fact that so many guys are gambling right now and not like gambling like oh I like to bet on football it's multiple apps constantly checking it talking about parlays i'm not like anti-gambling but it just seems like every guy is gambling a lot right now and i just want to be like uh with what money in this economy like what what are we what are we doing guys it's

00:35:41 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 4:

it seems like and by the way this it ain't just guys that are grown guys it's like we're seeing teenage boys that are gambling like crazy too and i i just thought about it like if this was

00:35:53 - 00:35:59 | Speaker 5:

drinking or if this was whatever and this many guys were drinking this regularly we would go

00:35:59 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 2:

this is a problem yeah and well so they're doing it enough that they're talking about it because that to me is the crazy part like that seems like a very random thing to talk to somebody that you maybe have never even gone out on a date with yet right right so i met these guys at a bar and um

00:36:18 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 5:

we've been hanging out and it's like two kind of like friends and i really hit it off with one of them but they're constantly talking about oh I had this parlay is it gonna hit sorry I'm checking my phone because I'm I'm hoping that this hit or whatever and I'm like every guy right yeah

00:36:33 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 4:

it's just gambling like crazy yeah it is it's wild I I think that um I think I'm maybe the only guy I know that doesn't consistently gamble like I gamble on the NFL playoffs right or the and the The NBA playoffs or the NHL playoffs. Like, I'll gamble on stuff like that. I know guys that every single week, but I also think that they're all fantasy football guys, too. That that also spurs on the winning and the competitiveness.

00:37:02 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 5:

Which, again, I don't have a problem if you're doing it casually. It just seems like everybody's doing it all of the time.

00:37:08 - 00:37:23 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of money to be made, I will say. Like, is it a problem if they're winning, or is it just a problem that they're doing? They don't all just win. By the way, there are a lot of women out there, too. I agree. That's the most surprising thing to me.

00:37:23 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

I absolutely agree. And I have a friend who gambles a lot. And I'm like, that's wild. You have a child on the way. And I don't think you can afford this. But I do agree with you on that one. But it just seems as if, A, when you say everybody's winning or there's a lot of money to be winning, that's what I hear people say when they're crying outside of the casino. To say this can be fun, but not everybody's walking out. The house always wins. You know what I mean? Got a problem.

00:37:50 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 4:

Call 1-800-GAMBLER. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I would love to hear the perspective from the gamblers, but I'd also love to hear the people that are maybe dating a gambler and like to know, do you know all the gambling that they're doing?

00:38:10 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 2:

See, to me, it's not. I mean, it is about the money that they're spending, but it's also about this thing that they constantly feel the need to check and check and check. If I'm spending time with you and you're constantly picking up your phone to check your parlay, I'm probably going to get a little annoyed.

00:38:26 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

See, that's the thing, though. When you have these parlays, and for those who don't know, if you do a single bet, that's a single bet. A parlay is when you have multiple bets that either all need to hit in order for you to win, or the reason why you could be checking your phone is because you can cash out early. So if I got a 14-leg parlay and seven of my games are happening now and they all hit, well, I can cash out early and not worry about the other seven.

00:38:51 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 2:

You were talking about this the other day with the parlays and how you got, like, every single one except for the last one or something and you wish you would have cashed out. That's how they get you.

00:39:00 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 3:

I will say, obviously, I've never had a period and I'll never birth a child. It cannot compare to having a 14-leg parlay and you missed by one.

00:39:09 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't know what hurts more. 844 Mojo Live to tell him that he's wrong?

00:39:14 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 4:

No, no, 1-800-GAMBLER.

00:39:16 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 5:

Right.

00:39:17 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you where it becomes crazy, and there are different perspectives on this, but where it becomes crazy is when your gambling goes from gambling on NFL football to, like, my son Joe doing table tennis, and he's gambling on ping pong. Two in the morning. Brielle, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey. Hi, Brielle. hi what's going on you agree with megan every guy's gambling

00:39:44 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

not every guy but most now are yeah yeah is your guy gambling

00:39:50 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 4:

yeah my husband gambles i do too okay and is your husband a winner or a loser

00:39:56 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

it's a little

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 6:

little bit of both but uh he's been winning a lot recently does he ever gamble or you ever

00:40:05 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 1:

gamble enough that you guys got to worry about the rent check oh no okay so how much money are

00:40:12 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 6:

we talking about how much gambling are we doing well not too bad but over the last like he showed me so you can see a portion where you're like your net loss and stuff so he doesn't usually put money on he wins the free money right okay but so that counts in the net loss okay and how much are we talking about like 50 000 oh my god oh my god this is the red flag oh my goodness it is not a red flag and by the way i do have to let

00:40:47 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 1:

you guys i do have to let you know that you understand the whole tax implications too right

00:40:51 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 6:

yeah he's never won he's never won amount that needs to be taxed yeah but does it even help you

00:40:57 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 1:

in your taxes. I don't think so, does it? Even if you lost $50,000?

00:41:02 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:41:03 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, see, that's the problem with this whole thing. What's up, Mia? How you doing?

00:41:07 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you?

00:41:09 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 1:

Good, Mia. It's not just the guys gambling, huh?

00:41:12 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 4:

No, I go online. I gamble online. I play the slots and roll out live. Okay. But the jackpot is more online than it is at the casino. Really?

00:41:23 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 1:

Megan, see, here we are thinking it's just guys. We may be the only ones.

00:41:27 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 4:

Like, on the slot machines, like, the jackpot is much, much larger than it is at the casino. So, like, I won probably, like, last year, I won, like, the jackpot, like, $4,500, $3,500. Okay. And that just was one slot machine, one slot. That is amazing. And then roulette.

00:41:48 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:41:50 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 4:

And then I play roulette live. So, you have a live dealer online.

00:41:53 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 1:

And how much have you won with that?

00:41:55 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 4:

um over like a thousand dollars and one yeah you know because i play different numbers here's my

00:42:01 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 1:

question you won forty five hundred dollars in the slots did you put that all into an account

00:42:06 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 4:

or did you gamble it all away and still use it no no i i withdraw it and then i go play again

00:42:12 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 1:

like another hundred okay there you go all right see that's smart yeah but i'm not saying that

00:42:17 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 6:

women aren't doing it i just think guys are doing it at a much higher rate oh yeah uh juliana says

00:42:23 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 1:

this is what keeps her and her boyfriend together. They do a lot of sports betting together. Is that right?

00:42:29 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Actually, I never watch sports, and I've been dating him for a year and a half. And when I started dating him, we started betting, but I never got into it. And then once we started getting into it, we bet every football game and every basketball game pretty much. But we make it, like, a fun thing together. So we bet, like, low money. But we, like, we make it an event. Like, we watch the games together, and, like, we watch our bets.

00:42:51 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 1:

Isn't this wonderful?

00:42:52 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 5:

It's a fun thing for us. No, why not just, like, bet kisses? Like, why do we have to bet dollars? Like, I lose a lot of money, but, like, it's worth it for the experience for us.

00:43:04 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 1:

It keeps their relationship together. You guys will both be there together when you're homeless out of the streets. You'll be able to. Exactly. I like it. Adam wants to tell us a story about his friend. This is sad. What's going on, Adam? Hey, don't say the game. Hey, what's going on? Don't say the actual app, though, okay? What's going on?

00:43:21 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay, no app calling. Yeah, no, a buddy of mine, man, we're roofers, and he literally makes more than I do, and it's at least twice a week he's asking to loan money on FanDuel, calling me up late at night, man.

00:43:33 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 7:

We just said, don't say it. It's going to hit.

00:43:36 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 3:

And then always calls me the next morning, like, hey, but I can't give you that money back. We missed my one leg.

00:43:41 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, shout out to FanDuel for making Adam's bank account go down because he's got to lend money to his friend that's always gambling. That's interesting that the guy that is actually making more money than you is asking you for money.

00:43:57 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Hey, man, he's a good friend of mine. He's a good guy, but he definitely needs to get off his gambling. What about you?

00:44:01 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 1:

You haven't taken into it? You haven't gotten into it?

00:44:05 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm not going to lie, Mojo. He's got me a couple times, you know, calling me, telling me he has that for sure bet. Yep. Just throw 100 on it. Man. Not so for sure. Always bites me. By the way, man, first time, long time.

00:44:19 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 1:

I, by the way, I should bet on every call we should do that. Which call is going to be a first time, long time. Justin, what's going on? Hi. What's going on? Nothing much, buddy. We're talking about this. Are any people playing Keno anymore? Are any people playing? My dad.

00:44:40 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 6:

My dad wins so big on Keno.

00:44:42 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

Anybody doing the Michigan lottery anymore? What's going on?

00:44:46 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just won 73 bucks on Keno the other day. But I was calling about the sports or the MGM. I used to have a date night with my girl. I'd come home from Speedway with an MGM gift card. And our sports...

00:45:00 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Betting, gambling got so bad, we stopped paying bills, and, like, we looked on our online betting, and it said, like, we had played through, like, $250,000. Bruh! Yeah, man, it was pretty, pretty far. Oops, my bad, sorry.

00:45:14 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, you didn't get through with it. That was good. You caught yourself. I like that. Yeah. So, Justin, you know, it's interesting. Megan says that most of the guys that she's dating, going on dates with, they will pull out their phones in the middle of dates and start betting in the middle of a date. What is going on with these guys? It's like the addiction, you know? You wouldn't zen in the middle of a date, would you?

00:45:39 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 3:

No, all my friends are broke from this gambling crap, man. Every single one of them are, like, going through every dollar they, like, like they have to sports bet or to just gamble. Like, I'll just watch them play on their phone, and they'll just be spinning, spinning on the slots until, you know, they're broke, and then they'll get so mad and just end up getting up and going home. or going back to, you know, get our gift card because the gift cards are pretty good. You get an extra $10. When you spend like 50 bucks, you get a $10, I don't know, $10 bonus.

00:46:09 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, free play, like a free play.

00:46:11 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:46:12 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Well, thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. Appreciate you. Yeah. Let's do this. Let's do bets on all of us. Like, let's have, like, parlays. My parlay today is going to be that I'm going to hang up on a collar, that Shannon is going to do a dirty story about Diddy, that Megan is going to say the words or the phrase, you're so annoying, or that's so annoying, and Kev's going to say, yeah, what's my over-under? Over-under on this one? Well, the whole parlay, if it pays together, that's just a normal day here on the show. That's going to be it.

00:46:55 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

Cheating is a choice. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 740 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:02 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Shannon, you had to tail between the legs, and you had to call them back up and say, no, we're not going to do it.

00:47:13 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

This is still going on. So I don't know how you and Chels have it where if you're going to make a big purchase, you tell each other, you make each other aware.

00:47:25 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

What kind of a purchase are we talking about?

00:47:27 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 1:

So specifically, this is carpet.

00:47:30 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for the house?

00:47:32 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 1:

For the house.

00:47:32 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so in our house, like honestly, Chelsea and I, we're good with, to a certain point, we know kind of like a dollar amount of what it would be considered a good, a big purchase. Yeah. But we if we're going to do something for the house, she picks out anything that is aesthetics. But we will talk about financial together to make sure that it's not financially out of our realm.

00:47:55 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

So that's how we are, too. I think I will. I know I made a big oopsie here and it's a big misunderstanding and it's total miscommunication on my part. And now I feel like the biggest idiot. So we my entire house is hardwood floors. You guys have been to my house except for my stairs and the three bedrooms. And when I moved into that house and put new carpet in, I didn't anticipate having four children living there and three dogs. And so the carpet at this point is wrecked. The dogs have peed all over it. The dog pee does not come out because it's a little carpet. So it was time to replace the carpet. And so Wes and I had we have a list of different things that we want to do for our house. And carpet was at the top of the list. And he had said to me a couple of weeks ago, you know, go ahead and schedule an appointment to have somebody come out and get, you know, and pick out some carpet. And so I thought, OK, so I call our friend Joey Zago over at the Carpet Guys. He sends this great guy to my house. And I had him measure. He brought all the carpet samples to the house. I picked out the carpet. And I had even texted Wes and tried to call him when they were at my house with all the carpet. I'm like, hey, do you like this one or this one? And he wrote, I totally trust you. And I'm like, perfect. So picked out all the carpet, scheduled an install date, put my credit card down. They charged my credit card April 1st. They are coming out and doing the carpet. So Wes comes home and I'm telling him like, okay, you know, based on all the photos I sent you, this is the one I picked. This is the one I picked. They're coming April 1st. And he was like, well, how much? Wait, he's like, you already paid for it? And I go, yeah, you you told me you trusted me. So I just pulled the trigger and and paid for it. And he's like, no, you dummy. I meant we were going to get like a bunch of estimates and then kind of go from there and figure out what we were going to do. Oh, so it was the price more than what I think it was more than what it was more than Wes had anticipated it being. And so.

00:50:00 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 3:

So I am used to just doing everything by myself because that's how it's been for years now.

00:50:08 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 2:

And so did you did the price make you gelp a little bit or, you know, well, I knew how much I had paid 12 years ago or 10 years ago, whatever, when I got carpet.

00:50:19 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 3:

And so this was like kind of close to that number. But also I'm like, that was a decade ago. Yeah. Like the price is not going to be the same. and um so i felt like a dummy i had to call the guy back the next day and explain in panic what had happened and i'm like my husband is having a heart attack i i am in trouble and i need you to help me here okay work with me here so but has that ever happened to you where you made a big purchase and then your spouse found out about it and and you're going oh crap yeah well it has

00:50:55 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 2:

happen where we've done something we're in on both of us i've done one and chelsea's done one where we both made a purchase and then when we found out how much it cost afterwards we were both like oh that purchase no longer is as fun as it was like you know what i mean like it changes your perspective on something because i've had it before where i ended up buying some stuff for our backyard like some outdoor furniture for the backyard and i said chelsea i really like this stuff i saw it bought it and then when chelsea found out how much it cost it was like i don't care what the hell you think like this thing could have been the most gorgeous stuff in the world but it wasn't that gorgeous you know what i mean yeah and the same thing too with the house like you you know you anytime you're buying something for the house like you want it to obviously be functional affordable okay so i had to go back in my text he literally so i'm sending

00:51:44 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 3:

him all the text about the carpet megan be my witness you can see you can see what did he write Right there. I trust you. I took that as the green light. Run, Shan. Run. Get it done. Check it off the list.

00:51:58 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? This is a good negotiation ploy.

00:52:00 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, though, yeah.

00:52:01 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 2:

Because you call up Joey Zago over the carpet guys and say to him, say, listen.

00:52:05 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 3:

Who I love.

00:52:05 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 2:

Say, listen, this is more than what Wes wants to spend.

00:52:08 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they know.

00:52:09 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Where are you coming now? They know. Come back at me with a better price.

00:52:12 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

I called the guy who's so sweet who helped me. And I truly was like, how can we fix this?

00:52:19 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 2:

How can we fix this? What did he say? What was his reaction? Oh, he was so great. You're on your own, go to counseling?

00:52:24 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

Nope. He was like, okay. I was like, we're going to make this. We're going to make it work for you.

00:52:27 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 2:

See, when you said installation day was April 1st.

00:52:30 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 3:

It's still on my calendar.

00:52:31 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

It could just be April Fool's. I don't know. Have you thought about hardwood floors? They might be a little cheaper. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is telephone number. What was the biggest purchase that you made that your spouse either was like, what the hell are you doing? Or maybe they made you have to go return it. Could you imagine having to go?

00:52:54 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 3:

And that's what I'm saying. I felt so dumb making that phone call going, I'm in trouble.

00:52:58 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 2:

You know what this reminds me of? When I was a little kid and I would throw something in the cart, you know, like, you know, like my mom would take me to Target. What's up, April? How you doing?

00:53:09 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

00:53:10 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. You had a situation happen to Shannon?

00:53:15 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, not like he happened to Shannon, but yeah, I had an unexpected purchase that was not approved. My ex-husband and I were on the tail end of our marriage, and he decided to go and take my van that had $1,000 left to pay on it to be paid off. And he traded it in for a brand new truck.

00:53:40 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. He put you into another payment, huh? That's not good.

00:53:44 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. But then when we split up, we had two trucks. Because we already had one. Because, you know, we needed another one. Yeah.

00:53:50 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you needed another one like you needed a hole in your head.

00:53:53 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You're such a dad. Yeah, I'm such a dad.

00:53:56 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. I needed another. You needed another one like you needed a hole. Where did that come from? I don't know.

00:54:01 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 3:

You have it?

00:54:03 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 1:

No, that was wild.

00:54:04 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my mom. You were saying to me all the time. No, I was trying not to react.

00:54:07 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 2:

You guys open up your vernacular a little bit here.

00:54:11 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 1:

That's one of those ones.

00:54:12 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 2:

Olivia, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's happening?

00:54:16 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 1:

You know, Shanna, give yourself a little break there because this is kind of your house that they moved into. And you guys are really just starting to know your house. That doesn't work that way anymore.

00:54:26 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 2:

I want to see.

00:54:26 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 1:

No, it doesn't work that way anymore.

00:54:28 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 2:

Make that phone call to the West right now and say, this is my house.

00:54:32 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 1:

No, I hope not. So, I mean, it's... This lady works for the carpet, guys. I don't think it's like...

00:54:40 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 3:

I can't understand.

00:54:42 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand what you're saying. You know, I'm listening to you right now, and I'm feeling like I have Charlie Brown's teacher on the phone line with me right now.

00:54:53 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Again, let's go back to those three words. I trust you. Yeah. Yeah.

00:55:00 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Kim. What's going on?

00:55:03 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I accidentally made a posh purchase of $10,000 because my daughter, I was showing her how much a Louis would cost, and somehow I hit the button, and my husband immediately called me about five minutes later and told me, what the hell did you just buy for $10,000? Oh, no. On Poshmark? Somehow.

00:55:22 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. On Poshmark, yeah. $10,000 Louis. Somehow. Does that fit it way through, though?

00:55:27 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 1:

What kind of Louis cost $10,000? How did that go through? I don't know.

00:55:34 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 7:

How did you somehow... It went through and he immediately called me.

00:55:37 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 2:

So what did you do? Did you get to return it?

00:55:39 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we reversed the charges. Yeah.

00:55:42 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. That's one. Honey, we got a problem. Somebody stole my card. That's what I would have told them. What's up, Dawn?

00:55:50 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Well, back in the day when Art Van was around, I got the approval from the husband to go and pick out an entertainment center. And as I'm looking at the entertainment store, I'm realizing it's not going to match this. So then I ended up with a new living room set, couch, butt seat.

00:56:08 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 2:

You fell for it.

00:56:10 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 5:

And then a kitchen table.

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. So what happened? What did your husband do when he saw that purchase on the card?

00:56:19 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, let's just say when it all got delivered, I had one of my best girlfriends come over. and we watched him walk up the drive and kind of looking in the big picture window, I'm going, what? You know what? And, um, yeah. That was fun. That's why I'm divorced now.

00:56:42 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 2:

We're going to give you a shot at a family vacation to go to Disney World. And Bianca's been in Disney World. What did you do yesterday, Bianca?

00:56:55 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 8:

00:57:07 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 2:

What is a Dole Whip, for those that don't know what a Dole Whip is, like me?

00:57:12 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 8:

I don't know, honestly. It's like a little sherbet kind of ice cream.

00:57:16 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 6:

I don't even know, but it's so good. It's pineapple. I don't know. You can get it at Mitch Albom's place. What is it called? Detroit Warriors.

00:57:23 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 2:

They will stop anything just to help you out, which is awesome.

00:58:34 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. All right. Well, thank you to Disney for this one. Bianca's there, and you have a chance to be there, too. You want to join her with your family? Call now, 844-MOJO-LIVE, and we want to hear more about Epcot later today, okay? All right, I'll keep you updated.

00:58:50 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:52 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this dirty? We're going to do the War of the Roses coming up here next.

00:58:56 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 1:

LA County District Attorney Nathan Hockman said yesterday that he is asking the court to withdraw the previous DA's motion for resentencing for Lyle and Eric Menendez, the Menendez brothers, calling their claims of self-defense part of this big web of lies

00:59:16 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 4:

that they've spun. The crushing blow for the Menendez brothers. LA's new district attorney says he will not follow the previous DA's recommendation to reduce the brothers' life sentences for the shotgun murders of their parents, Kitty and Jose. Our position is that they shouldn't get out of jail. DA Nathan Hockman says his office could someday support the brothers' release, but they'd first have to admit to what he says are decades of lies. It requires them to finally,

00:59:44 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 3:

after 30 plus years fully acknowledge and completely accept responsibility for the entire breadth of the crimes. The DA says those lies started from the night of the murders and Hockman claims the lies continued on the witness stand and even to this day. The thought that their parents were going to kill them that night of August 20th, 1989, so they had to kill them first, we believe was made up. But the Menendez family blasting the DA, accusing Hockman of holding Eric, Lyle, and our family hostage, saying he has blinders on to the fact they were repeatedly abused, feared for their lives, and have a tone for their actions.

01:00:21 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 5:

What I think the district attorney was attempting to do here is saying, hey, my predecessor said this, that you all believe this, but here are the facts as to why we came

01:00:30 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 3:

to this conclusion. And their hopes for release may now fall on California Governor Gavin Newsom potentially granting clemency. He has fast-tracked the parole board assessment for them. He's even cited the Menendez brothers in a new proposal to speed up the parole process for California

01:00:45 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 6:

prisoners. Trevor Ault, ABC News, Los Angeles. He, by the way, Newsom said in his new podcast that he's doing, that this may be something that he has to go and give them the clemency. This new DA that won, he was totally different than the last DA who was trying to win the election by saying he was going to let go of the Menendez brothers. This guy is saying, you know what, they've never admitted to the fact that they did kill him. He doesn't even want to take into account the fact that they were, you know, allegedly, according to that documentary, abused.

01:01:20 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 7:

Abused, yeah. I hope they go free.

01:01:22 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 6:

You want them free?

01:01:23 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I mean, based on what I've seen in the documentary, and I saw it later than everybody else, and of course, you got to watch out for who's producing it and what story is trying to be told, but it seemed like they were abused, man.

01:01:34 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, his aunts and the family seem like they're supportive of him going, or both of these guys going out and about.

01:01:41 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 8:

Because remember, it wasn't one of the arguing points for the DA's office that boys can't be raised back in the day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So.

01:01:49 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Wendy Williams, taken by ambulance after dropping a note from her window pleading for help. Police responded to her unit after a note dropped from the window and it simply read, Help, Wendy. The former talk show host was put in an assisted living facility by her family, in case you're wondering, like, what the heck unit are you talking about? She was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, has been fighting her court-ordered guardianship, and says she's rarely allowed to leave her room. I mean, it's just a really bad situation. So she drops this note. Ambulance takes her in. A psychiatrist examines her. Wendy gets a 10 out of 10 on a psych exam. It's called a capacity test. She was asked 10 questions to determine if she was alert and oriented. She answered every single one correctly. So now the results of that capacity test will be forwarded to the judge in her guardianship case. Really sad.

01:02:39 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 6:

She says that they need a key to go down the elevator. Like she can't just go down the elevator and leave by herself.

01:02:44 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 1:

She is locked in this place, essentially.

01:02:46 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 6:

And they're trying to claim the dementia part of this whole deal, which dementia to me wouldn't mean you'd lock the person up. Correct. It's wild. And she seems coherent when she's had conversations. I think she's doing an interview today with one of the ABC News Good Morning America people.

01:03:02 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 7:

Okay. She was scheduled to be, I don't know, either a co-host or she was going to be interviewed, but a part of The View on Friday.

01:03:09 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 6:

I think she's still on there. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

01:03:12 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 1:

Newlyweds Olivia Culpo and NFL star Christian McCaffrey are expecting their first child together. She posted two photographs from a maternity suit on her Instagram alongside the caption, next chapter, motherhood. Congrats to them. I love her. You don't like him?

01:03:27 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 7:

I just want him to get healthy, bro.

01:03:29 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 1:

And RFK Jr. and French fries. You are going to see this story trending today. He wants to make America healthy again by getting rid of fast food places using seed oil

01:03:41 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 4:

to make their fries. Health Secretary RFK Jr. is talking French fries. Today, the best French

01:03:47 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 2:

fries in the world are in Europe. I order them every time I go to Belgium or France or anyplace else. And the French fries here just don't taste right. Kennedy's speaking from the fast food chain

01:03:57 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 4:

Steak and Shake, which recently began cooking its fries in beef tallow, a fat rendered from cows instead of seed oils. Kennedy has railed against using seed oils while discussing how to fight

01:04:09 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 2:

obesity and chronic illnesses seed oil is one of the components of processed foods and that is you know all the science indicates that ultra processed foods are what are behind the principal

01:04:24 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

culprit kennedy says other chains making the switch from seed oils include popeyes outback steakhouse sweet green and buffalo wild wings seed oils include corn peanut and sunflower oil often used to cook fast food because of their high smoke point. Critics say seed oils increase inflammation, but doctors have said they do not pose a major health risk when consumed in moderation. Kennedy is not pushing for a ban, but is pushing for more transparency from food makers. You should know what that product is, what's in your food, and what the health impact.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 2:

That's all we're going to do.

01:05:01 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 4:

They say seed oils used for French fries make you want to eat more. So it actually spurs on appetite more so than you being able to enjoy some food and then all of a sudden go, oh, I feel full, whatever. It spurs it on.

01:05:16 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, interesting. All right, for all of today's dirty, search Mojo in the Morning in the totally free iHeartRadio app.

01:05:22 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 4:

I want French fries after that.

01:05:23 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 2:

So good. It's Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:05:30 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 4:

We were talking last hour about having had in a long time or having eaten in Steak and Shake. I don't think I've ever eaten in a Steak and Shake ever.

01:05:39 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that was college for me.

01:05:41 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 4:

Really? Yeah.

01:05:42 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 5:

Steak and Shake.

01:05:43 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 4:

I think I've used their bathroom a couple times on road trips. Nicole is with us. Hi, Nicole. Hi. Nicole, you heard Bianca calling us up from Disney World, and she was talking about all the fun stuff that they have at Disney World. You could be there. Congratulations. You're now qualified. Where are you from?

01:06:03 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 3:

Mount Clemens.

01:06:05 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 4:

We are getting you hooked up right now with a $50 Disney gift card, and you're now qualified for a trip to Disney World in Orlando for you and your family, a family vacation for four. Congratulations to you.

01:06:18 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Thank you.

01:06:20 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 4:

I want you to hang on the phone for just one second so we can get all your information. We're very excited for you, Nicole. This is so cool that all winter we've been sending all of our listeners to nice destinations like Florida with our Florida trips and now Disney World. So congratulations to you.

01:06:38 - 01:06:38 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:06:39 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 4:

You're welcome. Hang on the phone for just one second. We're going to do War of the Roses. If you suspect that someone is cheating on you and you don't know what to do, you do exactly what Thomas did, who you're going to hear from in a second here on the War of the Roses. is you text cheater to 95500, and then we will talk to you. We'll get some information. We'll try to see what we can do as far as putting together a phone call, and we will make all the appropriate legal action to find out if you have a cheater on your hands. The War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:07:13 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:07:19 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 4:

Thomas, why is it that you think that your wife is cheating on you?

01:07:24 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, lately, I will come home from work early, and I catch her remaking the bed and washing the sheets, like, in the middle of the day. And that's kind of weird to me, since we usually only wash our bedding about every couple of weeks.

01:07:41 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Is this something new that she's doing because she wants to be more clean? Or have you asked her about, like, why she's doing it?

01:07:50 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 3:

Uh, you know, it's, it's, I haven't really asked her about it. I just noticed that it's, it's, it's a relatively new, uh, change in behavior. Uh, I also, uh, and this is also, you know, something that's kind of stuck out in my mind is that, uh, she takes out the bedroom trash like a lot more often, you know? And, and what's weird about that is that that was usually like my job, you know, one of My household's yours.

01:08:20 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 4:

So she's cleaning up around the house a lot more than she has cleaned up, and that in itself to you is unusual because she has not been this way before? She's never been this clean?

01:08:30 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 3:

It's not the house. It's our bedroom. It isn't just that she's cleaning the house more often. It's the bedroom.

01:08:36 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 4:

It's interesting because he also had mentioned that he thought about putting a ring cam in the house, but he was worried about doing that because he was worried about what legally it could do. That would be it. I've never thought about that. I wonder how many spouses will put a ring camera in their bedroom and stuff, which is interesting, you know. Okay, so I find this to be maybe not the most suspicious behavior, but also I don't live in your relationship, so I don't know what she normally is like.

01:09:05 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 5:

I think about myself and I go through spurts of like going crazy with cleaning my house and other times it's just like a more normal routine. So I don't know. The fact that it's just the bedroom a little strange to me and not the whole house, but.

01:09:20 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 4:

So when she does the garbage, it's just the bedroom garbage and it's not anywhere else in the house that the garbage is being taken out.

01:09:29 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 3:

Right, right. Like she's just collecting up the trash bin from the bedroom and putting that out. You know, it's just, you know, like I said, it's just something that I used to do.

01:09:38 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:09:39 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:09:39 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to do this. We're going to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. We're going to try to see if we can get her to send flowers out. Sometimes women don't necessarily like to do that. And we'll see what's going on here. And then if we don't get her to send flowers, we'll obviously ask her some questions and talk to her a little bit about this. It's the war of the road.

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 1:

roses, and we're hoping that the flowers go to Thomas. Mute your phone, okay? All right. Here we

01:10:06 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 2:

go. Hello? Hi, is this Sharon? It is. Who is this? Hi, Sharon. My name's Nicole. I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm actually calling you with an offer for some free flowers. If you have like under a minute to answer some survey questions, we're going to give you some a floral arrangement that you could send today totally free of charge

01:10:39 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 3:

to you. Okay, totally free. Okay, do you need any of like my personal information or? I'm not going

01:10:55 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 2:

to need any of your personal information. Um, actually I have that already, which is how I got your phone number, but I am going to need some information about who you want to send these flowers to. And there is a little catch here and I'll get to that in just a second. It's actually the promotion is geared toward men. So we're trying to market some unique arrangements that more so are catered to gentlemen. So is there, is there a, is there a man in your life that you'd maybe want to send some cool flowers to? Uh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Let me ask you the survey questions and then we'll get to all of that. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Sharon? Uh, at the grocery store. Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Uh, sure. Yes. Okay. As a thank you for participating in the survey, rosesbloom.com is now authorized to provide you with this arrangement. So I need to go ahead. I'm going to get a first name and a last name. Again, we're hoping that you'll send these to a gentleman in your life. Just a first and a last name and a phone number is what I need from you first.

01:12:06 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Matthew. Okay. And the phone number is two.

01:12:17 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and what's his relationship to you?

01:12:25 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 3:

He is my brother.

01:12:29 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And Sharon, instead of sending a card, like a standard paper card with the flowers, at rosesbloom.com, we like to make it a little more personal. So I'm going to have you record a voice note, and that is going to be texted to Matthew, alerting him. He has a delivery. he'll be able to play this voice note and know that his sister sent him some flowers. Okay? So you can say whatever you want. I'm just going to count you down. Uh, okay. Here we go. Three, two, one.

01:13:02 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Matthew. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you and how grateful I am that you are in my life.

01:13:14 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Awesome. And Sharon, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah, that's fine. Okay. Sharon, I'm going

01:13:26 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 1:

to jump on real quick and just then we'll send those flowers off. Okay. Okay. I just wanted to let you know, because this is kind of an odd thing to have happen, but we are going to send the flowers to Matthew. But I just wanted to let you know that this is actually the mojo in the morning show and we're a radio show that was doing something where we were trying to see where somebody would send flowers and the person that was hoping that you would send them flowers unfortunately uh didn't get them but i'm sure would be happy with the fact that you're sending flowers to your brother that was kind of sweet but uh your husband thomas is on the phone and thomas was uh trying to see where you would send a dozen free roses to And Thomas You're not You're not upset that she's sending flowers to her brother Are you?

01:14:26 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 3:

If it was her brother I wouldn't be

01:14:29 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 1:

If it was her brother If it was her brother What do you mean by that? That's not the name of her brother That's That's our neighbor. Sharon? Just hung up the phone. That's your neighbor? Yep.

01:15:00 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Does she even have a brother? No, no, she doesn't have a brother. There's no other Matthew in our lives. Is he married or is he a single girl? Yeah.

01:15:11 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 4:

Wow. All right. I'm going to try to see if we can get her back on the phone. We'll see what we can do. Hold on one second.

01:15:21 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 1:

Yo, yo.

01:15:22 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 4:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:25 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Join the discussion now, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:46 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. War of the Roses, just moments ago, She sent flowers to a guy That she called her brother I don't know why she would say That's my brother Unless she obviously didn't want to tell A person who was The telemarketing person Wanting to know where you're going to send the flowers to That it's a guy that she's hanging out with Because obviously we've had it before Where people just go That's somebody I'm seeing Or somebody I'm dating Or it's the person I'm with

01:16:17 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 3:

Weird

01:16:18 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah It's my brother um also the other thing uh too this is an interesting thing where he suspected they were cheating because of how she was in their bedroom which obviously means that she's been bringing this guy to her bedroom um has anybody ever caught their significant other cheating in their bedroom 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 lexi what would you do oh i would be at that front

01:16:49 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 2:

door knocking to let that wife know or i call like an hoa meeting which well oh you're talking right on the neighborhood facebook page like there's no way i'd be going home looking at that front door knowing my you know husband or wife was baking cookies with the neighbor like

01:17:07 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 4:

that's not happening no way um yeah that would be that's going to be an awkward neighborhood uh right now after what just happened just a a couple of minutes ago uh dan what's up it's Mojo in the morning show, War of the Roses. Hi.

01:17:22 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hi. How we doing?

01:17:23 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 4:

We're doing okay, man. What did you want to say?

01:17:26 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, it was definitely a red flag to get rid of the bathroom trashes, like getting rid of your evidence of sex. You can't use condoms and wrappers in there.

01:17:39 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 4:

Especially if you're not the person that normally takes that garbage out. It does seem awkward, doesn't it, that all of a sudden the garbage has suddenly become cleaned out,

01:17:48 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 1:

And making the bed in the middle of the day. Yeah, it's super sus. I mean, the only time we change our bedroom trash is when we have sex. You can't leave. It'll start to produce a smell.

01:18:03 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay. You didn't have to go there. A lot of information for us. I know the details. We're a fruit. Tiffany, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Where are the roses?

01:18:16 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 3:

good morning morning what's happening hey i was just calling um about the message that she left i felt like that was a super red flag for me when she said i'm so happy that you're in my life i love my brother but i would never say that well but that didn't tip me off at all that didn't make

01:18:38 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 4:

me any uh weirder until after you know he had said that that's not her brother she didn't have a brother that you know okay it's a brother you know actually sounded like a message you would send to your to a brother i mean that wasn't strange i don't know what your relationship is like with your brother but i think that you know it was kind of semi-sweet but then to hear that that's not her brother and that's now the neighbor who is a married neighbor um tiffany what do you think about them cheating in the bedroom that's that's got to be a tough thing for him to deal with.

01:19:11 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I feel like that's the lowest of the low. I mean, cheating already in itself is horrible to have to deal with, but to know that's your marital bed where you sleep every night, changing the sheet, don't change the seat. I'll say that.

01:19:26 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Changing the sheets, don't change the seat.

01:19:28 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, MC Light. Yeah.

01:19:33 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for the call, Tiffany. I appreciate it. I still can't get past the smell thing.

01:19:38 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 3:

That was crazy.

01:19:39 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Amy? How you doing?

01:19:41 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 2:

Hey, great. How are you guys?

01:19:43 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 4:

We're doing okay. By the way, we're trying to get, we got Thomas, but we're trying to see if we can get her back on the phone with us and see if Sharon will come back on with us to explain herself. But we're running into difficulty. Go ahead. What was your comment? Sharon is just dumb, because what is Matthew's wife going to say when he gets a dozen long-stem red roses from the female neighbor?

01:20:10 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, and that's the thing.

01:20:11 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 2:

Different flower arrangement.

01:20:13 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 1:

But there's also. But you're right. But also, it's going to be sent to his phone, so that was the thing. That's the reason why she was doing it. I think she was probably thinking that he was never going to show her.

01:20:22 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 4:

But the flowers are going to be sent to the house.

01:20:24 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, he gets to pick where the address is on this. That's kind of the deal. When we do send flowers out, we text that person and give them all the information, and we actually send flowers from a florist of their choice. So, but you're right, though. Okay. You're right. I mean, I think that was probably the only saving grace of why she would send the flowers to him. Nick, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:20:47 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going?

01:20:48 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 1:

Good, man. Where are the roses?

01:20:50 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 3:

So, my theory is she's taking out the trash so much because she's meeting the neighbor outside.

01:20:56 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Probably. I never even thought about that. But I like that you got your private investigative hat on.

01:21:02 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 2:

There's too many ring cameras. I feel like that's more dangerous.

01:21:07 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 1:

They could be meeting on the side of the house. Nick, I just thought it was the whole taking out the sex, you know. The smelly condoms.

01:21:19 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 3:

Why wouldn't they just get rid of that at the time?

01:21:21 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

01:21:23 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 3:

She's just going to leave it in the garbage and take it later. I mean, it could be both. But I personally think they could be meeting each other outside, a little kissy here or there or whatnot.

01:21:31 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 2:

You make a good point. It's almost like she wanted to get caught. The fact that she's, you know, strategically taking out the trash and it's well known that that's not normal. Or like making the bed when he's aware that she's making the bed. Yeah. You'd be smarter than that, right?

01:21:47 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 1:

Initial B on line number eight wants to be voices, guys. Hi. What's up, B?

01:21:53 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

01:21:54 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:21:55 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 6:

My brother caught his wife cheating at work in their car, and he got arrested.

01:22:07 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 1:

Wait.

01:22:07 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 6:

Arrested?

01:22:08 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 1:

What did he do to get arrested?

01:22:10 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 6:

He rammed the car. Oh, bro. Two rams. Probably not the best idea.

01:22:15 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So he saw this and just floored his car right into it?

01:22:20 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:22:22 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 1:

Man.

01:22:22 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 5:

he has like he's on the news or whatever this happened a while ago wait what did the police

01:22:31 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 1:

do when they found out that he was ramming the car that his wife was in with another guy from her work i don't know i just caught her a horse wow it's it's interesting i would think as a cop you'd go okay it's kind of understandable although you probably shouldn't be ramming the car uh kiera what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi

01:22:51 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 4:

hello what's up kira hey so i was agreeing with the other caller about the way that the message that she left for her brother it's not the fact that like she said i'm happy that you're in my life like i have a brother that i am very close to and that's not what that wasn't like a brotherly sisterly message so that was the first tip off to me and then second of all why would you bring trouble that close to home like why would you do that in your home in your bed that is outrageous to me i've never understood cheating in your home but the the thing is it's opportunity so it's the

01:23:33 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 1:

neighbor it's close and there's their their opportunity and then what if they like fall

01:23:39 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 4:

out or whatnot you have to live there that's your home they have to live there who has to sell their

01:23:45 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 1:

home the wife and the husband or this guy matthew and his you know i mean like if how you live in

01:23:52 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 4:

the same neighborhood i know like i would never if i was single i would never date someone like that lives across the street from me or in my complex like that's too close to home for comfort

01:24:03 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 1:

you've never had though a neighbor that you thought was interestingly enough the i did i did

01:24:10 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 4:

and I did not approach only because, and when I say hot, like fire hot, but I did not approach because they live in my same complex. That's a no-no.

01:24:19 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So it's not worth having to pick up and get a mover and all the rest of that stuff.

01:24:28 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 4:

That's exactly what's about to have to happen because Matthew's wife is about to fly off the hinges. I know I would.

01:24:34 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 1:

That's the one. Yeah, that's crazy. Well, thank you, Kira. I appreciate it. Thanks for the call. The War of the Roses. What is this War of the Roses title then? What do you say? A stinky carpet. Get each away.

01:24:48 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

01:24:52 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Cheated a stinky neighbor. I don't know. We've got to come up with some kind of a name for it. It has to have a good name. The neighbors are nymphos. Smelly condoms is good. Smelly condoms?

01:25:03 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 2:

But, like, can we do an audio title where it's smelly cat, but it's smelly condoms?

01:25:08 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 1:

Smelly condoms. Smelly condoms.

01:25:11 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 2:

What are they? I'm not going to finish that.

01:25:13 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 1:

They're from Matthew.

01:25:17 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know what his title is, or it's just Mark McEvich. He is looking into why Channel 955 in Detroit's radio signal is skipping. So there's a little bit of a skipping that I guess is happening on there. Like literally, where you're hearing me talk, like literally, when you're hearing me talk, like literally, when you're hearing me talk, like literally, like when it's kind of like that. Yeah. So he's looking into it. If you are having issues with that, go listen to us on the iHeartRadio app. Search Channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app. So this is for the Detroit listeners on their radios. If you can put up with it, please put up with it for a second. Mark's going to try to work that out if there's some kind of an issue. I actually noticed it when I was listening Saturday morning to EJ's show. And that's when I noticed something. I should have said something at that time, but I just thought it was a late night of old fashions. That was the reason why. Your brain was skipping. it i was like what is going on um all right coming up this hour on the mojo in the morning show kev's gonna get about as real as he's ever gotten on our show he's gonna open up with us uh he's feeling a little off and he'll explain coming up here in a second uh we have tickets to go see the red wings take on the buffalo sabers we need wins these guys got to start winning otherwise we ain't going to the playoffs and the way that they didn't do the trade deadline right may mean that they indicate that they don't think they're going to get to the playoffs, but we'll give you a chance for that coming up in just a little bit. Do you have assigned seats in your house? I want to call out friends of ours that invited us over. And why are you not having kids coming up here in just a little bit? I saw a stat that I thought was pretty crazy that I should bring up right before Megan does that. How many hours a year parents are arguing with their kids? I'll bring that up. It's a crazy number of hours every single year. And what is the number one thing that they argue with their kids about to try to get their kids to do? Coming up here in just a little bit. All right. Mojo in the morning. Before you talk, Kev. Irish on Ionia. It's happening on Saturday. It's off Ionia. That's what it's called. I keep screwing that up. We got to shout out everybody from West Michigan. That is so cool to us, the people that work at the radio studios. they have been by the way our snx team is more welcoming than they've ever been to us they're actually because we're going to be coming and making the track from all kinds of places

01:28:30 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 1:

to get there and we're all going to be together as a team on saturday for irish and ionia they're even providing us with alcoholic beverages to i guess lube us up before we get to

01:28:41 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. On the bus? On the bus. How are they getting us money? What do you mean? They're giving us money to go buy them? No. Yo, that was crazy.

01:28:50 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 1:

They have a sponsor or something like that, right, Lydia? Wait, what? Irish off Ionian people. I'm sorry.

01:28:55 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm still in a mood.

01:28:56 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 1:

By the way, why are you guys thinking dirty?

01:28:58 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Why?

01:28:59 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 1:

A car has lubrication to it. You don't think dirty with a car. That's what you meant. That's what I meant. This is the Motor City here.

01:29:07 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Awesome sponsor. Shut up. Awesome sponsor. Who's the sponsor?

01:29:10 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 1:

sir. Lydia, who is it that, who is this coming from? Is this, is this just Ron Clement just

01:29:16 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

being great or what's the story? It is, it is. Are you serious? It's coming through Ron and I

01:29:20 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 1:

think Barfly too. So Barfly, Ron Clement, everybody over in West Michigan, we love you guys. Seriously, you've surpassed our kiss and channel sales departments that treat us like nothing,

01:29:34 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 2:

right? We get to drink off the luge too, the Mojo luge. Which that was in itself,

01:29:39 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 1:

Mike showed it to us last week, that freaking thing. We got to shout out Randy Finch. That guy put together this unbelievable ice luge with my face on it and a big old tongue.

01:29:52 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 2:

It's your tongue that everybody's going to be drinking off of.

01:29:55 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

If I had a tongue like that, I'd be in the band Kiss. I'd be like, what?

01:30:00 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Wasn't it Gene? Who was it? Gene Simmons. Gene Simmons had the longest tongue ever. That or on Pornhub. All right. So we got to thank those guys for everything. And we're going to give you passes to Irish Off Ionia. Why don't you call right now? Let's do it right now before we get into some good stuff. Irish Off Ionia. If you want to come, we'll give you VIP tickets right now for the 95th caller. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Give me the laugh. it's gonna be fun it's saturday we're gonna be all drinking wearing our green you know saint patrick's day is actually not until monday but a monday saint patrick's day to me even though you can always party and maybe do a three-day weekend it's not as fun as party night you know

01:30:50 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 1:

what it's gonna be this year is everybody is gonna be recouping on saint patrick's day from the weekend before St. Patrick's Day.

01:30:56 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 3:

Although people were asking me, a lot of people were asking me, are you guys going to broadcast from like Old Chillelagh or any of those things now that you guys are downtown Detroit? And I'll be quite honest with you. I don't think we got anything planned on that. Maybe we'll just have to like randomly just start showing up at bars or something. That would be fun to know. And just see what it's like. Old Chillelagh I know is the historic one. What's the one in Corktown that we did a couple of years ago? McShane's. McShane's. That was a great one. That was a great one. What's your dad's? Don LaVie's.

01:31:24 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 1:

Don LaVie's, isn't it? Good old Alan Park.

01:31:26 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 3:

That was such a great one, too.

01:31:27 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 1:

And I have to give a shout-out to Trina O'Malley's as well. That's his other bar.

01:31:31 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 3:

And then Vintage House, I know that Channel 955 is going to be at throughout the day, so Vintage House is also a great place.

01:31:37 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 1:

Vintage House is where you get the corned beef.

01:31:39 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so good. It's actually historically known because of how good their corned beef is.

01:31:44 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 2:

Corned beef, slap.

01:31:45 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 3:

Man, oh, man.

01:31:46 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 1:

Don't we have a corned beef place across the street from us right now? Yes. Or they're actually making it.

01:31:51 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Grobals, I think it's called, or something like that. What's up, Casey? Are you there? I'm here. Hi, Mojo. Hey, Casey's from Grand Rapids, and you're going to be there with us.

01:32:02 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Casey. Woo! I miss, oh, well, first time, long time. All right, Casey. I'm on the phone.

01:32:09 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Casey, what kind of a home do you have? Do you have a home with a nice couch that if we all get too drunk, we can go and hang out at and sober up on?

01:32:19 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I most definitely do. It's a massive couch. Just got it. Did you really?

01:32:24 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 3:

Let's break it in. Is it one of those couches? I love the couches that are like L-shaped or U-shaped, like where they're really big and they take up the whole room. I love those.

01:32:32 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. It takes up about 85% of my living room. It's massive. You guys can ask it. We'll be cozy.

01:32:37 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're giving you VIP tickets, okay? So you got some tickets here. irishoffionia.com. Buy VIP tickets or get your passes now so that Saturday you don't have to wait in any lines. Congratulations to you.

01:32:49 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I missed you guys last year, so I'm so excited to meet you.

01:32:53 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so what happened last year? Did you show up late and we weren't there or what?

01:32:57 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 4:

The pregame went a little long. Oh, okay.

01:33:01 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, we were there a really long time last year, and we're going to be there a long time this year, too. We got transportation provided by Top Notch Party Bus and Limousines, our good friends over there, Ramon and Lori, and Mike the Driver is going to be driving us.

01:33:17 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 1:

I love Mike.

01:33:18 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 3:

He's the official Chaldean leprechaun, going to be driving us to Grand Rapids. So it's going to be fun. We'll see you there on Saturday, okay?

01:33:27 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 4:

All right. I'll see you guys Saturday. Thank you so much.

01:33:29 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate you. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. You know, we like to get silly on this show, and I always think it's fun. But I also think that every now and again, you've got to get real. And Kev's got something that he wants to get off his chest this morning. And I'm hoping that you guys will all take a heart, you know, and then maybe help them out a little bit with it. What's going on, buddy?

01:33:51 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

I just feel lost and I feel off. And today, honestly, on this show, this has probably been the best that I felt on the show, I would say, in like two or three weeks. And I think there's one thing when you know why you feel off and then there's another thing when you don't know why you feel off. and I think like as I don't want to get too crazy but I think as humans like we have this this ego or this this need to know and like one plus one equals two like being able to attach one thing to another kind of gives us confidence and when you know what a thing is then you know how to attack it and I don't know why I fell off and I don't want to do the thing that I do oftentimes where I try to attach it to something just so I can feel comfortable and have something to solve, but I don't know why I feel the way that I do. And I feel uneasy. It's nothing that's going on crazy in my life or going on crazy in my career. Like I feel confident in like my relationships with my family and everybody's, you know, for the most part healthy, but it's just like this cloud that's kind of over me where I don't feel sure. And you've felt this way longer

01:34:59 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 3:

than just the last few days because i know you've been under the weather too yeah and i mean maybe that

01:35:04 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 2:

has me feeling it a bit more heavy well but it's been something that's been there i often think

01:35:09 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 3:

that when you are feeling off because you said it's been a couple of weeks yeah it lowers your immune system down too and and sometimes it makes you sick yep what do you can can i just like figure out like what off means for you because you're an energetic guy 99 percent of the time

01:35:26 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I am. I'm not going to say I don't think a lot, but like I'm a person that like I feel like I'm in the flow, so to speak, where I don't necessarily have to plan my steps. I'm pretty sure footed in whatever direction that I go. Like, I'm not really thinking before I make a move. Like, I'm kind of just making my moves and there's like a rhythm to the way that I'm living. And I feel like my rhythm is off in a certain in a way, if that makes sense. Like when you see somebody dancing and they look like they on beat, that's how I feel like I live my life. And then when you see somebody that's not on beat, it kind of looks like it's off. So you're dancing like a white person. That's how my spirit, my spirit is white right now. I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sorry.

01:36:08 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 3:

And I know you say you don't want to like put something on it because you don't want to, sometimes you do that. And we all do that. We all go, well, I had a bad day like a week ago. Or, well, you know, I got into a fight with somebody or whatever the deal is. And then we say that's what it is. And then sometimes when we do that, we push down the feelings of what it is, what it truly is. Yeah.

01:36:26 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 1:

Or you solve that, that specific thing that you quote unquote named. Yeah. And that's not it.

01:36:32 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Right. And I thought, to be honest with you, I thought maybe it has something to do with Journey and Sherelle and like having this thought of like what my life would look like. And then now being like settled into my new space and all of that type of stuff. Explain what you can of that. Well, I mean, you know, going to get married with Sherelle and like live this life where we would be together and journey and Josiah and have this whole family thing. And then that's not no longer my reality. And coming up on a year and, you know, in a few months of that separation, I kind of thought that maybe that has something to do with it. But you don't think it does. I don't. Because that would be the obvious. Exactly. And that's what I don't want to do. I don't want to just attach it to something that's obvious and call that the solution. And that's not really it.

01:37:13 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that Occam's razor though? Isn't that Occam's razor? The most obvious thing is probably the thing. i've never heard that saying but maybe i mean do you feel like you've grieved that picture of your

01:37:25 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

life fully yeah i i think that there are cycles so to speak i think i don't know if i have forever healing at this point but i think i've i have a lot of healing in that situation like i know that situation is is dead you know so to speak so like from that point yeah but do do you think

01:37:48 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

um you've had a lot of change aside from that you moved you got a new place that you're going to we've moved work um like do you think that there's everything combined like i feel like sometimes all happens do you think the weather i mean what i'm trying to to to wonder i'm not

01:38:05 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 2:

really a big seasonal depression type of person like i'm blessed to not really be affected by that but i mean you bring up a good point and but that's why i feel like i'm in a space where i'm trying to solve it i'm trying to figure out the why so that i can get over it and i don't even

01:38:21 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 3:

know if that's the best thing to do right now so i don't know kevin um pia um bs before sherelle i don't know kevin before sherelle yeah um so i knew you i've always known you in a relationship and in a pretty you know i i always felt like you guys weren't married but you were like married you were like a married couple and then I've noticed a change in you on the air where you know now we're seeing Kevin the dating and they uh or not so much dating but like talking to girls and you know uh flirting and all the rest of that stuff and it's been a total difference in what I've seen of Kevin from when he first started with us on the show to what it is now and I love both sides of you Kevin but I also wonder how much of you now is an act and how much of it is authentic and I mean this in the regards to like when you'll you know come in and go yeah man this girl's a baddie and all the rest of that stuff how much of that do you like and how much of it

01:39:22 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

do you miss being the relationship guy I mean I do miss the relationship person I think I was growing to become the person that was going to be a husband so I think that was the pathway that I'm on I think this other pathway is new footing so it's a figuring out this newness of my life and I think maybe that's where it's not it's not that I'm not being authentic I think that when I'm trying to learn this new version of myself I think I'm also trying to get comfortable with this new version of myself and I think it's hard for people to see you beyond what they know you as. So they have to relearn who you are as you're relearning who you are.

01:40:00 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 1:

you know yourself one of the best things my therapist ever said to me because i feel like i i have gone through this a lot over the past i would say seven or eight years of being a wife and a mom and then going through divorce and being single and now being a wife and a mom to even to an even bigger family again and my therapist said especially being a believer which i know you are she said this is when you go vertical and you ask god what is true of me like who am i and what is not true of me as you like move forward and try to figure out like okay this is a new version of kev but there are still a lot of things that are true of me and not true of me and i always think about that and i i go as far as writing them on post-it notes like getting them out of my brain and getting them out so i can see and it's it sounds so simple but it really does help me yeah

01:40:46 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 4:

no that's real i was in the bed last night it's interesting that you talk about the baddies and all that i had a because i've been smashing somebody and i felt like god told me not to smash and then i was like no i'm kind of over and i feel like i have your permission now but i think that was more so my flesh talking and wanting to operate in that way and i had it like a come to jesus moment yesterday i was texting this other girl who i wanted to smash but i think our relationship is more tied into the lord because that's where our conversation is led to and sometimes you think the person is in your life for one thing and then you really see why they are in your life when you do go vertical and you find that truth and i think that not saying like you got it. The best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody. Cause I, I done passed on more P than I done got. Cause I like to have a real connection with people. I'm kind of rambling now, but I do think that I've allowed my flesh to kind of be the leader in my life. And I need to

01:41:39 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 3:

submit to God more. Wow. That's actually interesting that you say that because Victoria,

01:41:45 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 6:

what did you want to say to Kevin? Hi, I just wanted to tell him, you know, like Shannon hit the nail on the head like you got to lean into lean into your face right now like when you're walking when it's uncomfortable that's when you're growing and that's when god wants you to lean on him and find yourself like all of that stuff uh thank you for the call rosalyn what's

01:42:11 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 5:

up it's mojo in the morning what do you want to say to kev hi hi i just wanted to say that um he still kevin still needs to heal through his heart for sherelle journey and josiah otherwise it's like a lost soul part and it'll stay that way forever do you feel like you've healed men try to heal through sdx they try to heal quickly through sdx and it doesn't work what is sdx

01:42:35 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 1:

that's the question i asked though is have you fully grieved that relationship because i thought like you you always think you're like yeah i'm good yeah but then like are you i don't i mean

01:42:47 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 4:

i guess i don't i don't is it one of those things where you know like how do you how do you know if

01:42:51 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 3:

you fully grieve i think i think a lot of times you the way that you know if you're fully grieved and you may never fully grieve that because that was such a big part of your life is how you are with those people that you know like how you yeah and i think that if you are at a point where you

01:43:11 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 4:

feel like okay we're good you know what I mean just like move on that's so that's so interesting though I was literally watching a sermon yesterday and the guy said the pastor his name is Darius Daniels he has a church called Change in New Jersey but he said that some people think that they have to in order for them to heal they have to forgive the person but you don't the only way to heal is to forgive I actually disagree with that maybe I'm saying it wrong and the thing

01:43:40 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 2:

it's funny that you bring up like therapists and what they talk about with you because my therapist has always done the whole just like move on like what are what are you accomplishing by sitting in your grief and sitting in your hurt other than being in grief and being hurt like if it's not going to change and that is what it is move on and focus on the other aspects of your life that

01:43:59 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 4:

are going well i like that but then i feel like also what if somebody comes along and they scratch

01:44:07 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 2:

that part that isn't healed and then that's gonna happen even if you do think you healed and moved on and forgave and and whatever you could still get hurt by the reminder of what happens it's never gonna go away so don't focus on it mine has been a like my journey through therapy has been a big focus on just focus on the the positives focus on the what we want to work towards like stop going to the past stop looking at the hurt and just move on because the hurt's not going to change you're still going to be hurt by that situation i also think kev that this like

01:44:37 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 1:

you do have to acknowledge and mojo kind of said it at the beginning you can handle a lot you are such a positive guy but there's been a lot of change in your life like you're spinning a lot of plates and there's been a lot of change in your life and what even if you think that you are handling that well that's still a lot for one person and aesthetically you may be handling it Yeah, and I think a lot of people listening relate to that. Like, they're not giving themselves enough grace. You're going, you have so much on your dang plate. Like, it's okay. What I'm saying is it's okay to feel a little off for a while as long as you know that you're off, like, you're going to come out of it.

01:45:14 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 4:

Kyle, you wanted to say something to Kevin. Go ahead.

01:45:18 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 3:

I did, Kevin. I just want to say how proud of you I am, man. This is a lot to come onto the radio and tell everybody how you're feeling. I mean, it's one thing to tell, like, a therapist or a group of close friends or even tell these guys off the air. But to come on and bear yourself in front of all of us is amazing, especially with the stigma that, you know, men are not supposed to be able to have feelings or be able to talk about these kind of things. Like, super proud of you, dude. I don't really have any way to really help you, but, you know, I just wanted to say that that's awesome. That's awesome. That's a great call, Kevin.

01:45:48 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 4:

And I'm proud of you too, Kevin. And I also think sometimes it's okay. He's the energy guy, Kyle, of the show. And sometimes it's we all need to bring the energy and you need to relax a little bit. So sometimes you just need to take time for yourself too. I think that you're the guy that has so much going on. I don't necessarily ever do. I don't want to judge the person and how they're trying to work out the stuff that's going on in their life. But sometimes you don't give it any time at all. And it's only been a short period of time that you've gone through a new job, uh almost marriage then a breakup and you know all the changes of moving and i mean geez i gotta tell you something it takes people decades to get through what you've gone through in the last year and a half or two years uh jessica last call you want to say something

01:46:41 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 2:

hi guys good morning good morning um i wanted to thank kevin for being so vulnerable and talking about this. Mental health is something that we kind of veer off. So I think it's really good that you're talking about this. I personally, I've gone through something similar, and I would highly recommend being by yourself, taking that time to heal, spending time with God, and seeing what God wants from you. When you're entertaining other women, when you're creating those soul ties, that is going to like disconnect to the wires with God well and I and I think that that's good and

01:47:25 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 4:

you brought up something interesting you need to be there by yourself and that also includes without Josiah like I think there are some times where you're by yourself you think is you and Josiah together and I think sometimes you need to just have moments I know you were sick over the weekend and you were completely by yourself right no I had Joe oh you did have Joe during that whole thing when's the last time that you have just been you and without friends

01:47:48 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 3:

co-workers family i don't think ever for real to be honest with you and maybe it's one of those

01:47:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

moments where you just kind of need to have some moments like that and jessica you're right some it will feel uncomfortable i can't be by myself and i remember when chelsea and i were going through the hardest part ever in our years of marriage where we were basically you know done We were going to, uh, uh, divorce and I went away by myself and I'm not kidding you. I started hearing voices and those voices. I felt like were the Holy Spirit speaking to me. Like I felt like it was for me that that's what my belief was. And it was the most uncomfortable time I've ever had just being there completely by myself because you feel so much more vulnerable and you're like, I got to be around people. Yeah. Cause I need people sometimes to bring me life and instead I need to have my own life. But I think that you are an amazing guy. I think that you sharing this is awesome. And I think that you've helped, I'm sure, a bunch of people. I don't know if you've been helped by this, but I think it may be just getting it off your chest. Yeah, it's a step closer. Yeah. Can I still hit one of these buttons here and make fun of you or no? Hit that one. Kev's comments are now classified as illegal imports in Windsor. Thanks a lot, government officials. This is Mojo in the Morning. Did Tony write that one? Is that right? Or no? I have to like Tony writes them all. Do you think Tony does something like this? Or I don't know. All right. That Tony Travato guy. Doesn't he have anything nice to say about anybody? Jordan. Yes, he likes Michael Jordan. He likes Jordan. Check out, after the show's over with, I think sometimes we don't do this, go check out the comments that people leave in our DMs during this break and then also on text message. because all these comments are from people who have been in your shoes or are currently right now dealing with it in the same vein. And I think we go by just the three or four calls that I'm able to grab in the time that we have or the comments that we all make. But sometimes reading some of these comments, I'm reading some of these ones right now, man, people are really excited that you brought that up on the radio.

01:50:00 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 2:

DM me personally, too. All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. I'm going to get to the dirty, and then we've got more coming up here in a second. First, though, I want to give you a chance to win tickets to see the Pistons take on the Washington Wizards for 3-1-3 day. That's coming up on what, Thursday? Is that right? Yeah. Thursday is 3-1-3 day, the 13th. We're giving you a chance to win tickets to see the Pistons play, plus an autographed basketball. And who's autographing this basketball? I think it's Jalen Duren, right? Jalen.

01:50:35 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so it's a signed jersey.

01:50:36 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

A signed jersey. Oh, okay. I thought it was a basketball for some reason. A signed jersey by Jalen Duren. Your chance to win right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller.

01:50:46 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:50:48 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 2:

And then Wings fans, we got Wings tickets coming up too before the end of the hour. Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the 30. What do you got, Shannon, for us?

01:50:54 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 5:

Well, we've been talking a lot lately about Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and how they spend a lot of time together very amicably co-parenting and then there was this embrace that Ben was spotted hugging. Did you see these photos of Joe Jennifer Garner at their son's paintball 13th birthday party and that the hug the photo of this hug was shared

01:51:17 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 2:

everywhere over the past couple of days. Is this the thing that J-Lo got all upset about? Yes that

01:51:21 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 5:

and also where the tabloids went crazy with a story that Ben wants Jen Garner back and she's very happy in a relationship and has been for quite some time. So in the wake of all of that, Jen, speaking of, Jennifer Garner's boyfriend, he's a businessman, his name is John Miller, was spotted spending time with his ex, Caroline Campbell, and gasp, they were photographed getting into the same car together. So now everybody is like, Oh, he's trying to get revenge on Jen Garner by spending time with his ex. There's nothing more to that story than that. I think it's just a slow, dirty.

01:52:01 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:52:02 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

01:52:03 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Do they all spend time like this?

01:52:05 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 5:

Everybody has a good relationship from anybody I've talked to about this. And that was that. Wow. But yeah. 50 Cent denying the rumors of him being the victim of an alleged Hollywood shooting. He wrote on social media yesterday, don't worry, I'm going to make it because this is fake news. And there was this viral TikTok that cited TMZ as the source of this news that 50 Cent had gotten shot. Fake story.

01:52:34 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 2:

Man, all your dirty is not real.

01:52:37 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm clearing it up because people take it and then it's clickbait and then they run with it and people think it's a real story. And so it's not.

01:52:44 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 2:

Do we believe any of these stories anymore? I just feel like every single story or allegation, we have to wait until the end to figure out if it was true.

01:52:52 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 5:

I believe everything from Dumois.

01:52:54 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 2:

I feel like if you could get sued for just putting a dirty story out there that was just a dirty story, there wouldn't be like TMZ. Like if they defamation-wise could go after him.

01:53:08 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 5:

TMZ has kind of gone down lately. They're so sour. No, not even that. It's just I don't believe that they break. celebrity news like they used to.

01:53:18 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 3:

No, they absolutely don't.

01:53:19 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 5:

That's what I meant by their show star. It's like they just take dollars from celebrities. They're buying stories. For sure. Yeah, TikTok, Dumois, like a lot more of the social media. What is that website called where they do all the secrets at big events and then they reveal them? It's like A-list child star. Like blind items. Blind items getting revealed. I love those. I live for those. Elon Musk yesterday giving an update on this massive cyber attack that affected X. You may have experienced an outage if you are an X user.

01:53:52 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

We're not sure exactly what happened, but there was a massive cyber attack to try to bring down the X system with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area.

01:54:01 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 5:

There was a group known as the Dark Storm Team that claimed responsibility for these attacks, but still no details on anything more than that. And this story's gone viral. the little kid that called the cops on his mom because she ate all of his ice cream. you still have to go to the house though right because it could be mom covering up something bad happening so they did the cops did show up at the house

01:55:00 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 2:

hi oh it's the police they came for real yeah we have to just come check make sure everything's okay what'd you do did you call the police yeah why I told my mommy to go to jail why do you want mommy to go to jail? Because I hate her. Because she's being bad to me. Why is she being bad to you? Because her, because her doing, because her doing silly stuff to me. What's she doing to you? Just, just keep on doing. She hate you or is it because you didn't get ice cream

01:55:42 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 3:

yet. I didn't get ice cream. So is that why you're upset? Yeah. That's why I didn't get no ice cream. Can you imagine a parent getting ice cream? No. The stress that parent is feeling. Unless it's a real emergency, okay? What do you call for? I hate his ice cream. You hate his ice cream? Mommy has to go to jail. Should we take her to jail for eating your ice cream? Yes. He goes, yes. But that kid do to say she does mean things to me. He did say she hit me. Yes, that's so scary.

01:56:17 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh. I think the kid needs to go to his room for a while and be punished. She probably beat the hell out of him when the police left.

01:56:25 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 4:

Grandma's going to be so happy. She doesn't have to worry about getting in the app. Congratulations to you. Hang on the phone for just one second, okay? Sierra?

01:57:41 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, Mojo, one thing, one thing. Can I say first time, long time? Yes, you do.

01:57:48 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 1:

We love you, Sarah. Thank you.

01:57:51 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:57:52 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Have a great time. Go Pistons.

01:57:53 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 3:

I love her energy.

01:57:55 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning. So you guys, when you have people over and you're planning like, hey, we're going to all get together, we're going to have dinner, we're going to have drinks and stuff like that do you pre-select where everybody is sitting like where everybody gets to sit around the table no yes do you okay like for thanksgiving i understand that right but just a normal friday

01:58:21 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

night for saturday night every time growing up we all had assigned suits at the kitchen table really yeah really like for company when you had company over yeah we knew where we would like at the chair and where they would sit yeah so did you have name tags no please don't have names but Like, I remember, and he's my best friend, but if I sat in my brother's seat, I might get a little hit to the back. That spine would be a little bit like, ah.

01:58:47 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 1:

We went to a friend's house for a party and sat down at the table and was told that I had to get up and move because the spot was for one of their kids. Okay. That was the spot where one of the kids would sit.

01:59:02 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. I admit that it's crazy. I would do the same thing. Would you really? Yes, because if you throw that off, you don't know what else is going to be off.

01:59:12 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 4:

So when you introduced this, I didn't know it was going to be like that. Because I will do that with Smith's chair in particular. If somebody sits in Smith's chair, I very kindly ask them to move because his chair is disgusting. No matter how many times I throw the chair cover in the washing machine. And so I will say, okay, that one's Smith's. Like anywhere else. Is this the same? But I thought you meant like actual assigned seating.

01:59:35 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 1:

Is this the same, like, your dad's lazy boy, like, nobody sits there that's his chair? All their spots on couch and stuff like that people have, like, that's how they always sit and stuff? Like, and I talked about this before on the air, but I don't get why people will do this. Like, I've talked, I don't get why people will, you know, when they're inviting you over to your house, will tell you certain things that you can't do and can do at their house. Including where you can sit and where you can't sit.

02:00:02 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay, but can you tell people that they have to take off their shoes?

02:00:05 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's kind of a very Midwestern thing.

02:00:07 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 4:

But can you?

02:00:09 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I think that you can have those rules.

02:00:10 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 4:

So why can't I tell you where you have to sit? I do think the sitting is different. I do. To be fair, so do I, but I still do it.

02:00:18 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm there. I got a spot in my couch, that corner area, that's mine. I tell my mama to move. Really?

02:00:24 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 3:

But if we all came over to your house and we were going to watch a movie or something and Megan was sitting in that spot, would you be like, that's my spot move?

02:00:32 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 2:

I would try to get there before everybody said, oh. Okay. I'd try to be the first one to the couch. Well, and that's the thing.

02:00:38 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 1:

I was one of them. We walked in, we were like the first ones over there and I'm thinking to myself, I don't even get the spot of where I want to go sit, to go sit around the table. The other thing that was weird, and this to me was like crazy, was we couldn't bring our drinks into the living room where the game was on TV. we had to leave our drinks in the kitchen area or drink it in the kitchen area because they didn't want us no food or beverage in there was it all white well they have young no they have young kids and their kids have the rule that they can't bring food or drink out there so they didn't want the you know uh rate the whole idea of all of us in this you know okay he gets to do it but i can't

02:01:19 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 4:

get to do it do you think i'm crazy that i put a couch cover on my couch when people come over

02:01:23 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I think that's nuts.

02:01:24 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 4:

That is craziness.

02:01:25 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 1:

That's where you're supposed to take the couch cover off. You do?

02:01:27 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, here's the thing. Grandma. Well, here's the thing. It is the most expensive piece of furniture I've ever bought in my entire life. I very much should not have bought this couch, and I did, and it's the best decision I ever made. It's so cozy. It is the best couch in the world, and it is white.

02:01:45 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 3:

And I will put a cover on it when people come over. See, to me, that defeats the whole purpose of having this nice, beautiful couch that you bought. Because you bought it to have your house look nice, but then you cover it up when people come over. But here's the thing.

02:01:59 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 4:

If it costs the same as my first couch, which was an Ikea couch, and it was white, I'd be like, spill the red wine on it. But this is an investment piece. This will be passed down for generations.

02:02:10 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 1:

I want to know 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And I want you to call out the family, friend, or whoever it is. I want you to call out the people who you hate going over to their house because they have too much stupid crap that they do all the time.

02:02:23 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 3:

Or you can't crap.

02:02:24 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can't do any, you can't crap in the house? Really?

02:02:28 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 3:

You know this. You haven't known me for 20 years.

02:02:31 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 1:

You cannot crap in the bathroom at Shannon's house.

02:02:33 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 3:

Go to Starbucks.

02:02:34 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 1:

I gotta go, Shannon.

02:02:36 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 2:

You better let me go.

02:02:37 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 1:

If Shannon has you over, make sure you go number two at home.

02:02:40 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 3:

You know where this originated. I had a friend come over and give me an upper decker, and never again will I let a gas move.

02:02:47 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Whitney? how you doing it's mojo in the morning what's going on i'm good how are you guys we're doing

02:02:52 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 5:

great what's happening uh the only person i will give up my seat for is my parents anybody else you can sit wherever else you want yeah i man i have to be quite honest with you

02:03:05 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 1:

i think that it's rude when you have guests in your house and you will not allow the guests to be able to be guests you know what i mean like they can sit wherever they want they just don't take my spot unless you're my parents they won't do it and where is your spot where exactly is it

02:03:20 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 5:

whitney uh i'm on the edge of the couch i got two different couches of my spot is my spot and

02:03:26 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 1:

everybody else are your ass prints right in that couch like can i can i tell it was yours

02:03:30 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 4:

all right tell me if i cross the line here so i left my old couch behind at my old house where my brother lives and when i go to his house i make him move because i bought that couch too

02:03:41 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's diabolical.

02:03:44 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 1:

Your brother, by the way, your brother should have never bought that house from you.

02:03:49 - 02:03:49 | Unknown:

I know.

02:03:50 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Amelia? How you doing?

02:03:53 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning.

02:03:54 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

02:03:56 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 6:

Nothing. I don't have, I'm not that weird and I have like a spot to sit in because I have my own bedroom in my house, but I have a cup that literally no one has used, not even like my live-in partner. um it's a tiffany cup and i just don't trust anyone else with it and it's mine so if somebody

02:04:13 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 1:

grabbed that out of the the cabinet you would take it out of their hands i would say um can i get you a different cup what if that cup accidentally breaks when you're cleaning it or

02:04:26 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 6:

you know putting it in the dishwasher oh i don't put that in the dishwasher it's porcelain i am very very very careful with it because i got it it's got too many memories when i used to work

02:04:36 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

there so that's wild man oh man that is wild no i just looked it up and i fully understand we went to a we went to a friend's house a year or so ago and it was cold and i remember they had a blanket there and chelsea said oh my god i'm so cold like it was like freezing so i grabbed a they had a blanket that was there and they were like that's the decorative bank blanket and they would not allow you to use the decorative blanket Thank you.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 5:

Or when people move the pillows. I hate that.

02:05:03 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 2:

Jessica says that she would never want to go to Shannon's house. What? What's up, Jessica?

02:05:09 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:05:10 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 2:

No, Jessica actually is like you, Shannon. What's going on, Jessica?

02:05:14 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 3:

Can you hear me? Yeah.

02:05:15 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead.

02:05:16 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, first time, long time. Hey, Jessica. I've been listening to you guys. I'm like 23 now. I've been listening to you guys since I was like literally five driving to school with my mom.

02:05:28 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You just made us feel old. I'm going to hang up on you. What's going on?

02:05:32 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Sorry. So in college, I had a friend who would not let people use the bathroom at his apartment, especially if they had to go number two. Oh, he's like Shannon. Yeah. And after a fun night out at Michigan State, go green, we went over to this apartment to just hang out, whatever, afterwards. And one of my friends was about to literally go in their pants, had to go so bad. and he sent them across the street to, like, a random 7-Eleven at, like, 2 o'clock in the morning to go to the bathroom because he would not let them go. That's funny. If you're in my neighborhood and you need to use a toilet, I'm your guy.

02:06:09 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

That is funny. That is so funny, Jessica. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Lena, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

02:06:17 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just wanting to call in about people, you know, sitting in certain places. my aunt and uncle, they have, they're older, and they have their own seats on the couch. So when you go over to their house, like, you will not sit in their seat because they have, like, seat pillows, they have, like, covers, they have, like, back pillows, and then, like, right next to the seat that they sit at, they have, like, a little table, tabletop

02:06:50 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 6:

thing where they keep like their books and and coffees it's like their beds and nightstands

02:06:56 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 2:

that's why it's the same it's been the same seat for the last like 10 years wow my god so so so if you go over to their house right now you know exactly where they are and if they're not there you're calling the police because there's something happening right absolutely absolutely that's great but that's at a certain point that's the thing this couple that was we're they're like 40 something years old 40 something year olds shouldn't do that megan should not be covering her couch she's 30 years old 30 year olds shouldn't be doing that reminds me of my grandma she had the

02:07:29 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 6:

plastic on her couch i would my italian grandma had plastic you know what smart lady smart lady

02:07:37 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 1:

add the mojo in the morning show to your presets on our free iheart video app and never miss the

02:07:43 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

show mojo in the morning we got a giveaway coming up here in a second am i the a-hole also on the way we'll give away some red wings tickets coming up within the next like 10 minutes okay it's mojo in the morning show here's the question to call up with aside from medical reasoning why do you never want to have kids what is your reasoning because megan's calling this out and i want to bring up a stat before you tell your story okay yeah this one was the wildest one and any person that has children I want you to think about this you're not smart you should never had kids a stat was just put out that shows the amount of time every single year you are spending arguing and negotiating with your kids the average parent spends 67 hours a year negotiating with their kids with the majority of the negotiating happening at the dinner table to get your kids at dinnertime to eat something like vegetables or something that they don't like because they think it smells or something they don't like because they think it looks crazy that's the majority of the time that they're doing it the next time is bedtime and then followed by that is the uh did you do your homework or you got to go do more homework or reading and stuff first of

02:09:04 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, we're Americans. We don't negotiate with terrorists. Stop negotiating with children. It's funny to know, that literally added to the list of reasons. And I'm joking right now. I'm only bringing this up because Mike and I talked about this on the Slightly Messy show, which you can check out on the free iHeartRadio app by searching for the More Mojo podcast. Ding, ding, ding. Oh, ding. I'm sorry. and um we were talking recently about if i would be more open to having kids recently and i said yeah only because i feel like i'm in the place now where i would be way more comfortable doing it myself so just know that this is a conversation that i've been having recently i'm not interested in having kids that's not like a now's my opportunity i got to do it right now but it's for the sake of conversation right it's a less of a hard now and more of like a Maybe, probably not.

02:09:57 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

That's a breaking news story. You can't just slip.

02:10:00 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 3:

that in there like that and us not make it a breaking news story but she said she does not want kids i know she doesn't want kids but that's the most open i've ever heard her ever be with uh

02:10:09 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 2:

the idea of children and you said by yourself right oh yeah so without a partner i'm at the point right now where it would take me so long to find somebody i would want to raise kids with that i would be out of the time period that i could have children you know what i mean yeah

02:10:28 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

02:10:29 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 2:

No? You think you can meet somebody? No, I'm joking. And within like a year, know if you want to have kids with them? But you're not 50 years old. No, I'm not kind of. This is a long way to not even get to what. My girlfriend, this past weekend, we're sitting and I was at one of their sporting events. And I'm so grateful to have kids around me in life that I can go to these activities and be a part of them and kind of get that like kid fix without having a kid, which I love. I hate when my friends won't invite me to things for their kids and I'm like no like it's like I don't get to do that stuff it is fun for me and they were all sitting around and they were like we can't wait for you to be a mom because we know how much you like enjoy this and genuinely take take aside the conversation that we just sort of dived into I was like is anybody trying to have kids right now is anybody actively being like this is the world I want to introduce my kids into because I have never been more certain about this isn't the time for me to have kids, not because of where I am in my life, but because of where the world is. And I think before it was like, no, it's going to be fine. Like everything will work out. It was me that didn't want them. And now it's like, well, I could, but I, I don't feel like the circumstances are lined up for me to actually do that. And the first thing I will say right off the bat is like the whole money thing and I know what every parent is going to say you're going to say there's never enough money for kids you're never ready for kids and that's not what I'm talking about I'm talking about like I feel like our dollars aren't going as far and groceries are crazy and like child care is through the roof and if I just don't understand how it's actually feasible to have a child in the world

02:12:09 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 3:

right now that's interesting well first off it's further along than you ever have been but it's also your you know I think the last time we talked about this with you was maybe five years ago or something like that and i get it you were in your 20s at the time who's thinking about that but now you are at least open to the possibility but it's the world and the way that things are going right now that's keeping you from ever wanting to do it right i feel like i just like

02:12:33 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 2:

missed every window which is fine like i'm not heartbroken about it right like this has never been like there are women out there and their dream is to be a mom and they knew they wanted to be a mom from the time they were 10 and like i never had that feeling so i'm not like mourning the loss of like a door closing it just feels like i never it was a revolving door and i was

02:12:53 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

stuck in the spinning door yeah um although i will tell you this you get into a relationship with a guy you're gonna have a kid right away it's gonna happen oh my god why because i'm uh pulling the ricky bobby thing on you right now don't you put that witchcraft on me i'm putting

02:13:07 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 2:

the ricky bobby watch out first time you guys have sex boing okay this is so bad i lie to every man that i sleep with about birth control because we are using multiple forms of birth control because this is staying empty we are keeping it empty been there before no believer guys hey carissa

02:13:27 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 3:

what's going on carissa we're talking the topic is why do you why do you not want to have kids

02:13:32 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 1:

yeah so i'm 34 and i don't want kids i can barely take care of myself how am i supposed to like have a little child rely on me for at least 18 years and like echoing what Megan said like why would you want to bring kids into this world right now it's it's very unpredictable and I got my tubes

02:13:57 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 2:

removed to make sure that I oh my gosh wow I have been actively looking into it it's incredibly

02:14:03 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

difficult to do Carissa are you in a relationship no I'm not and it's actually really hard to find guys to date that don't want kids it's like it's a deal breaker and it's something that i like to

02:14:15 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 2:

bring up sooner rather than later i was shocked once i started dating again at how much of a deal breaker that was for guys i thought guys would be so on board with it and they are not and i am shocked at how many guys are like adamant they want children and they want them

02:14:31 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 3:

sooner rather than later carissa how hard was it to get your tubes uh removed did they tell you that

02:14:36 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

you had to think about it for a long time yeah yep I started asking when I was 25 and I got the surgery when I was 32 so it took me that long and it was a lot of times because doctors were like no you need to wait like what if you meet somebody even like even my mom was like what if you meet somebody it's like that's not going to change my mind like I don't want

02:15:00 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 6:

it wow thank you for the call i appreciate that yeah absolutely wow uh sarah what's up it's mojo

02:15:06 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 3:

in the morning hi um i'm 29 and i don't think i'm gonna have kids because i don't i don't have a lot of support or the village that i feel like kids need to have it's really just me and my husband wow so no family around no extended family not really my parents are snowbirds but they primarily are living in florida and my husband's dad is not very reliable and we don't really have

02:15:32 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 6:

anyone else do you think your parents though would move back because i've seen that happen a lot where a lot of times the the parents will move towards where the kids are and i think this you know chelsea and i talk about this all the time when our kids start having kids who knows where we'll

02:15:45 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 3:

live you know yeah no i got married last year and my parents barely wanted to be there for that

02:15:52 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 1:

oh wait that's so sad that is kind of sad i also think y'all not great i also think that you you can um that community starts to form it's kind of backwards if if there's no family involved when you do have kids because you start to meet friends who have kids your kids age and that becomes your community yeah you know did you find that there was because i found this from people

02:16:18 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 2:

that I've talked to a huge lack of community from the time you have a child until they hit school or those activities because I don't know if I'm ready for let's say it's five when they go to

02:16:29 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 1:

kindergarten five years of isolation to get there yeah um I I would say that there definitely is that time period like I met I I have friends from different stages in my life but my core group of friends right now I met through having kids. Yeah. Brittany, why do you think you won't

02:16:50 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 4:

have kids? Okay. So here's the thing. I was a foster parent. I am technically somewhat of a foster parent right now. You're going to hear her in the background. I don't want your cup. Thank you. Um, and everybody's not who I am. So that's fine. But we generational person, man, like we needed to work on ourselves, my husband and I, and like figure out and fix what we went through and how to be a better human before we wanted to be a better parent, right? And Megan hit the nail on the head because she's two right now. And let me tell you, I went through a huge depression last year because I felt so isolated. Like, you guys kept me going because it was something that I could look forward to because you guys are my friends, you know? Like, at least that's what it feels like. And just being able to hear other people, but it is very isolating having a young child. And, like, even if you go to the park, even if you go to the gym and things like that, Like, you still come home, and it's just the two of us, you know, until my husband gets home and then. So learning how to do that first, and Megan, I'm super proud of you for saying that, because it's not about the money. It's literally about how can I make this tiny human better, but I needed to make myself better first.

02:18:00 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 2:

For sure. That's a great comment.

02:18:01 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 4:

Like, we're still taking care of her. We're still going to do whatever we need to do for this one, but I don't think we want to have our own kids, because I don't think that I'm ready still.

02:18:10 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 6:

But I think you do, can I tell you something? I think what you're doing is amazing because I think you are taking on this child to give this child a better life, knowing that eventually when you become attached, you may have to give that child up. I think that right there makes you a mom already. I think you are a mom for what you're doing.

02:18:30 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I'm a firm believer in you don't have to give birth to be a mom. Like the woman who is my mother did not give birth to me. I totally get that. But you said something interesting like, oh, I thought you were my friends. We are your friends, by the way. I talk more openly to people who decide to spend their mornings with us than most of the people that I see on a day-to-day basis in my life. Like, we are absolutely friends.

02:18:52 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 4:

And I appreciate you guys for that.

02:18:54 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 6:

And she makes her friends sit on plastic.

02:18:56 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 4:

I do.

02:18:57 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 6:

On her couch.

02:18:58 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 4:

I do. That's fine. My grandma did, too. I'm okay with that. I'll sit on your plastic couch.

02:19:03 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 5:

You're just like her grandma. You're just like her grandma. We love you. WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:19:24 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh my God, I was running so late, but that was such a good hour and a half or two hours or five hours.

02:19:31 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 1:

My letter felt like it was 18 hours, and I ran.

02:19:36 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 6:

You ran.

02:19:36 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 1:

I had to go to the bathroom so bad.

02:19:38 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 6:

I thought, she's going to do the...

02:19:40 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 1:

No, I didn't have to poop. I had to pee, but...

02:19:43 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 6:

I feel like whatever hour we lost in Daylight Saving Sound was made up in that last time. That was crazy. I need to take a pee-pee. It was... Well, first off, it wasn't even... The show feels like it's only been an hour long, but we've been on. It's 9.08. Are you serious? It's already 9.08?

02:19:58 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 1:

No, it's gone really fast. holy crap we've had so much good stuff going on i mean uh this morning if you missed any of the war of the roses we'll have that for you again before the end of the live show but you can go listen to that on the podcast uh the husband who suspected his wife was cheating in their own bedroom because of what the room started looking like and some of the things that she started doing and wait till you hear who she's cheating with you can go listen to that on the podcast uh we got into a whole bunch of topics uh so far this morning uh we uh how how can it be that somebody hasn't eaten one of these we'll uh hear that at the beginning of the show uh then we did why is it that every guy seems to be gambling these days uh shannon with got in trouble for the purchase without uh getting the full permission even though he did give her the okay i trust you Yeah, those were the words. I'm going to make a T-shirt. I'm going to make a T-shirt. By the way, I did see that you went and you infiltrated his office with a bunch of pictures. I saw him post that on his social.

02:21:02 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's an update to something we talked about. Yes. Yeah, he didn't have a photo of me, so now he has 40. Yeah, a lot of them. He has 44.

02:21:08 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 1:

And they're all different, too. That's the most amazing thing. It wasn't like 44 of the same photo.

02:21:12 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 2:

Went to Walgreens.

02:21:13 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Which would have, honestly, if you did 44 of the same photo, I think everybody in the office would have thought you were nuts.

02:21:18 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 2:

I think they still think I'm nuts.

02:21:20 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 1:

Do they?

02:21:20 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

I am nuts.

02:21:22 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

Kev got some honestly very real things off his chest, just admitting that he's not feeling right. He's feeling off. And a lot of people commenting on that still. The assigned seats at the table. We talked about going over to a friend's house and they not allow you to eat at certain places. And then Megan unveiled that she actually has plastic on her furniture or she doesn't put plastic on her. She covers her couch when people come over.

02:21:54 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 3:

It's fabric. It sounds super uncomfortable.

02:21:56 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 1:

And then we are not having kids, Megan, with why are you not having kids? A lot of people commenting on that one. Everybody, by the way, speaking of putting the gambling topic and the kids' topic together, everybody says they're predicting Megan's going to be a mom here in the next year or so.

02:22:13 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 3:

A year or so, like in the next month I'm going to get pregnant?

02:22:16 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 1:

No, there's texters that are texting and going, Mojo, I think you're right. Now that Megan's out dating again, I think she's got those mom vibes. That's one texter. That's 313. And then 586 says, I think Megan would be a great foster mom.

02:22:30 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 3:

I looked into it. I can't with our schedule.

02:22:33 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. We did that whole foster mom topic yesterday with the story about the mom that got mad at the kid and she sat on him. I'm thinking to myself with these foster moms, for some reason, that last foster mom needs to be more the voice you hear of foster moms. Well, that lady sounded, she was wonderful. And then you hear that story about the sad on your.

02:22:53 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 3:

Fostering and adoption is very common in my family. My dad grew up with foster kids. My aunt fostered children and adopted children. So, like, that to me is not an unheard of or unreasonable thing. I think a lot of it has to do with, unfortunately, our schedule. It doesn't allow it.

02:23:13 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 1:

Warm those eggs up, Megan.

02:23:16 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 3:

No. Just die dormant, please.

02:23:18 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 1:

There was also a few top texters here. Shrivel up and die. Not me and my ex. Here's a few texters here saying... Stay hidden. Saying Kev and Megan need to just do it. That's 248. I'm trying, guys. And then 231 says, Kevin and Megan, date please. Megan, would you go on a date with me? No, I'm trying to respectfully find a way to say

02:23:50 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 4:

Hell no to the no, no, no Hell no, hell no

02:23:56 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 1:

I want listeners to create the date for Megan and I Let's do it

02:24:01 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 4:

I know Create the date You guys, it would be so awkward You think so? No, I think it's great

02:24:07 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 1:

I think we would have a great time We did a bit years ago Where we all dated each other's significant others We dated each other's spouses. I'll do that. Maybe the show needs to do a, the show dates itself. So you would rather date three people than date me. And you guys go on dates.

02:24:23 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 4:

And I said what I said. And I stayed behind that. Chelsea, I'm available. Wes, how you doing? Kev, I'll see you tomorrow.

02:24:34 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 1:

She always opens herself up to Mike's wife, Allie.

02:24:38 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I would marry Allie in a heartbeat.

02:24:41 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 1:

What do you have against black people, though? No, you know what?

02:24:44 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 3:

Let's get to it. Yeah. I'm very homophobic. Let's dive in. I'm so homophobic and I am so racist. Thank you for finally addressing this. Thank you.

02:24:52 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 2:

Not interested in me. Is it my boob size? Yes.

02:24:54 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm also breast sizes. I don't know what the term is for that, but add to the list.

02:24:59 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

You're a cupist.

02:25:00 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 5:

add it to the list what do we what do we how do we rate that that as a bit uh lydia that megan and kevin go out on a date together and then report back on what the date is like or do you think

02:25:10 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 2:

that that's crossing uh human resource lines hr lines i think that it's fine if megan wanted to

02:25:17 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 4:

i think the only way megan will go on a date with me is if we go see harry styles at the sphere in Las Vegas. I would do that date with you. Sounds like a great date. Yeah. Sounds like you're paying for the date. Because you're on a trad

02:25:29 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

wife. You're paying for that date. It sounds like I should sponsor this date.

02:25:33 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 5:

This has now gotten to a point where we're not giving...

02:25:37 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 3:

Shark Tank, I'm back in. No, no. I think

02:25:41 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 5:

the best possible scenario, best case scenario of this is you go eat at Kevin's favorite wing place. Sweet water.

02:25:48 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 4:

Sweet water. Hey, man. And you guys do this.

02:25:51 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 5:

Many of love. I like that. idea you know there there are some power media power families that are here in the metro detroit area there's taryn asher and jason carr jason carr exactly and then there was i think there was wasn't uh what was the the news uh lady who's on cbs news uh oh sandra sandra ali used to be used to be married that goofball uh guy over at channel four sean lee no i think he got canned

02:26:19 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 1:

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure I just saw him.

02:26:22 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 5:

I think I got canned. I think I read it on one of the media dirt pages.

02:26:27 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing, though. You've had a legacy here. 25 years.

02:26:31 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:26:31 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

25 incredible years.

02:26:32 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:26:33 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you want the show to be known for that girl murdered the guy that was on that show? Yes. That's what you want to be known for.

02:26:39 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 4:

That wouldn't be our story.

02:26:40 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it would be.

02:26:41 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 5:

I would love that.

02:26:42 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 4:

I would make you very happy.

02:26:43 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 5:

To me, that would be, I think that would be fun. I think that would be, ask the listeners what they think about this.

02:26:50 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You love baking. I need all your cookies.

02:26:54 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:26:55 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 3:

Go ask yourself. I can't.

02:26:57 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 4:

This conversation is making me.

02:26:58 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 3:

I swear to God. Oh, my God.

02:27:01 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

You never have to throw out the trash.

02:27:04 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 5:

I think that this would be interesting. I think that there were a couple, if I'm not mistaken, I think in all the years I would go to morning show boot camp there were like two or three gene and julie were one of them they were a morning team that candy and potter candy and potter and then we have doozy and rover because

02:27:23 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 3:

02:27:29 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 5:

02:27:40 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 3:

long time too are they not together still i don't think so what i don't well i could be wrong we are

02:27:45 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 5:

being radio nerds right now she listens to us she's had she's uh rover's like the only other morning show i listen to god i hope uh i hope they're still together i love those guys those are great uh texters are asking why kev is only so focused on megan and why he's not focused on Lydia people are asking that question

02:28:07 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 4:

Lydia care to explain

02:28:08 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

this is my brother oh come on do it for the show

02:28:13 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 4:

we're bingo buds

02:28:17 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 3:

bingo leaning

02:28:18 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 4:

bingos and bongos

02:28:21 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 3:

I believe and Cardi B has a song called bongos it's about sex

02:28:29 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 5:

would George your dad give the okay for your hand to be given to Kevin? Certainly.

02:28:39 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

Especially Kevin, actually. Really? I wish my parents would love to have Kevin in the family. I mean, honestly,

02:28:45 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 4:

Cyan as a mother-in-law, I mean, I'm winning. She's amazing.

02:28:49 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 5:

That was a win. Yeah. She would be amazing. Alright. Can I read my favorite

02:28:54 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 3:

text? Just came through. Yeah. Well, Kevin's obviously fertile.

02:28:58 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 4:

Heart pass! Heart pass! I'm telling you, shooters don't miss.

02:29:02 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, you just broke it all. I don't even want to go to Harry Styles.

02:29:06 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 5:

That actually is true. You would definitely be pregnant, probably. Oh, God, God.

02:29:11 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 3:

A morning show baby.

02:29:13 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

02:29:14 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 3:

A baby is born. That is Mojo's dream come true. A child in a manger.

02:29:20 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 4:

Our next show picture is Megan's going to be pregnant in a minute.

02:29:24 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 5:

No! All right. All right. Let me do Am I the A-Hole. So, Mojo in the Morning, it's time now for Am I the A-Hole. If you go to Channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app, just pull up the station, no matter where you are checking us out, and then hit the talkback mic. It's a little microphone there. You can send us what was sent to us by Linda. Here, take a listen.

02:29:46 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

My daughter told me that she was pregnant, and I didn't ask her before I posted on social media, so she's pretty upset with me, and I'm not sure what to do about that now. so i could use some advice oh boy well first

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, Linda, is this your first grandbaby?

02:30:05 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Aw, congratulations.

02:30:07 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 2:

Aw, so, Linda.

02:30:08 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 1:

That's very, very exciting. I'm going to wait to tell you congratulations before I tell the mother of the child congratulations because they should have broke that news to us.

02:30:15 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she's given us her, you are an a-hole according to Megan. You just went from aw to aw by doing this. So your daughter tells you that she's pregnant and you get all excited about this. And you go on social media?

02:30:33 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 6:

Mm-hmm, yeah.

02:30:34 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 2:

Did she go on social media and make any posts?

02:30:39 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:30:40 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 2:

And you didn't look ahead of time to make sure that... She went first. Yeah.

02:30:47 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 6:

No, I got overzealous and excited. I know I was guilty of that, I think. But you know what? I had to kind of reflect and I said, hey, you know what? She didn't tell me, though. She didn't tell you not to tell? She didn't tell me? No. She didn't say anything. She didn't.

02:31:06 - 02:31:06 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:31:07 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

Should she have to tell you?

02:31:08 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 6:

She didn't tell me. She didn't say anything. You know, I don't know. She, she, she. I guess I'm conflicted about that.

02:31:16 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 2:

You know what your daughter needs and your family needs? What we have in Mojo in the Morning Show. And that is, this is not for the air. You have to say that. Immediate disclaimer before you tell any information at all. That's what you need.

02:31:30 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't know. She came to me, and she was just like, because I've been waiting for a long time, and I was just so overexcited. And so I put the pictures up with, you know, her. I got crazy. Did you tag her? With her as a baby, and then me and her. And then, oh, my God, she's so mad at me.

02:31:53 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 2:

All right, so is Linda an a-hole? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. It's am I the a-hole? Is this grandma an a-hole for going and posting that she's going to be a grandma before her daughter can tell friends that her daughter was going to have a baby? Sierra, what are your thoughts on this? What do you think? First off, say hi to Grandma Linda here.

02:32:19 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Grandma Linda. Hi.

02:32:24 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

Is she an a-hole?

02:32:24 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, 100% a-hole. I know, I agree with you. Oh, darn it. We definitely can't say it first. Just like weddings or things like that, you can't post pictures before everyone. When the baby's born, do not post pictures before they do. Don't give the name. Make sure you get the okay first. No name. Nobody's rosary.

02:32:49 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 7:

Common sense, Kev.

02:32:50 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 2:

Did you misunderstand her, Linda, when she was telling you about this? Did you think that she had already told friends?

02:32:58 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 6:

i guess i just didn't think about it i just was yeah i guess i thought i had just was like i it was like the same night it was like a couple hours later you were excited i should have been like can i yeah i was so so i didn't even ask i should have just been like can i tell people yeah i guess i'm thinking of that now you know you reflected but but then i'm also wrestling in my mind thing but she didn't tell me not to say anything right right right i bet she probably

02:33:29 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 7:

the reason that she didn't get on social media right away is maybe she's if she's anything like me planning like something cute for the announcement you know and wanted to tell

02:33:40 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 2:

everybody that way but or she was worried to say too many people right because a lot of times people worry about how she is yeah kenny am i the a-hole do you think linda's an a-hole i i do think she's

02:33:52 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 3:

an a-hole stuff like that it's got to come from the individual themselves um i feel like parents are too quick to jump to social media with information um and that that should have been

02:34:02 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 2:

her daughter's news to share it how does it make you feel kenny that you just call the grandma an

02:34:07 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 3:

a-hole oh man i'm not gonna lie i kind of called my mom an a-hole because she ran to facebook to tell them that my dad had a stroke before any of us kids oh no that's good god oh my god is he okay uh yeah yeah he's good he's uh going through his treatment and all that to get a trade out now so

02:34:28 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 2:

he's good by the way that's the problem with social media people think it's you know the their life and they need to they need to not do that what's up hannah hi is uh linda and ale

02:34:39 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

yes i'm sorry but yes i'm pregnant and it's absolutely killing my mother to not put it on facebook but why does the world absolutely need to know it's not your diary it's not your life why are you not telling anybody that's great oh i've told everybody that needs to know yeah it's just everybody all of our friends all of our families

02:35:00 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 5:

folder i said call your girlfriend that's awesome but i mean we put our first baby on facebook and then i had people touching my stomach saying congrats that is funny you open yourself congrats

02:35:11 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 2:

to you and that's strike number three so i guess it's unanimous so far uh jackie though jackie actually brings up something on your side what's that jackie

02:35:22 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 5:

linda linda linda baby you are not the a-hole i think the daughter is a-hole because if Linda has been waiting to become a grandma and all of a sudden the daughter has a problem because she told people, girl, get over it. Are you even happy to be pregnant? Do you know how many people out there want to be pregnant and can't?

02:35:40 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I disagree. I so disagree.

02:35:43 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, thank you, my lady.

02:35:44 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 5:

So, oh, my gosh. And everybody that thinks that you're an a-hole, they're an a-hole because I support you wholeheartedly. I love when I became a grandma. And you could be that type of grandma that don't want to babysit, don't want to be part of it, don't want to be involved but i really don't think that you would be so for her to be upset about it my question is if she's unhappy to be pregnant is she keeping it go on a lot of questions

02:36:07 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 3:

for daughter let me talk to her god forbid something bad happens yeah you're right not even there it's just not her story to share it's not her news to share ella has a question for you

02:36:22 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 2:

Linda, what's your question, Ella?

02:36:25 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 5:

Hey, did you delete after the post, after she got on you about posting? Did you go ahead and delete it, or did you keep it up?

02:36:33 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. What'd you do? No, I took it down. Yeah, I did. I took it down, because she was so mad at me. You know, I took it off, like, right away, but she still was really mad. Because I have, like, a lot of, I tagged her, and then when I tagged her, all of her friends saw. So, yeah, it was on there pretty fast.

02:36:53 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Samantha, your mom did exactly what Linda did?

02:36:59 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Something very similar. She is a huge a-hole. I had suffered a miscarriage prior to my baby girl, wonderful baby girl that was born. But my mother told a church member, and the church member got up during announcements. Oh, no. Oh, no. the entire congregation and because of having a miscarriage i was planning to maybe wait even longer than 12 weeks to announce it just to protect myself and my husband sure and so huge a-hole and on top of that linda like i know you're excited my my mother was also excited first grandchild but then you turned around and blamed your daughter and said well you didn't tell me like just apologize if you messed up you know what a whole moment you know what though samantha

02:37:42 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 2:

And I'm sorry, by the way, that that happened to you. I think your mom's intentions, obviously, were to get everybody praying. But I have to tell you something. The interesting thing with this Linda thing is, Linda, you know how you get your daughter to be good with you? You tell her that if she can't get over this, you're not babysitting. She'll want a babysitter. She's not going to lose you.

02:38:00 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. You know what? I think I would have to be like, okay, how can I get this kid?

02:38:07 - 02:38:08 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:38:08 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 6:

Because I want to babysit. Stay off Facebook.

02:38:12 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 2:

Facebook is the devil.

02:38:14 - 02:38:15 | Unknown:

Devil.

02:38:16 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:38:16 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 2:

All right. We love you. The devil. There you go. Thank you so much, everybody. All right. Take care. Am I the a-hole? Back with Tate McCray tickets, sold-out tickets, the dirty, and then War of the Roses coming up next.

02:38:32 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 1:

This is your favorite president, Donald Trump. There's a lot of talk about tariffs, except for the people listening in Windsor. You're in luck. There's no tariff on listening to Mojo in the morning It's free Doesn't even cost a loonie Or a doonie It's totally free

02:38:50 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Tate McRae tickets The show is sold out It's in August Got a lot of people wanting to go to that show You want to win tickets Text greedy G-R-E-E-D-Y To 95500 Standard text and data rates to apply

02:39:10 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:39:14 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what is trending in this hour's Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning.

02:39:21 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. L.A. County D.A. Nathan Hockman, new guy, said yesterday that he is asking the court to withdraw the previous D.A.'s motion for resentencing the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Eric Menendez, calling their claims of self-defense part of a big web of lies that they just continue

02:39:41 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 7:

to tell. The crushing blow for the Menendez brothers, LA's new district attorney says he will not follow the previous DA's recommendation to reduce the brothers' life sentences for the shotgun murders of their parents, Kitty and Jose. Our position is that they shouldn't get out of DA Nathan Hockman says his office

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 3:

could someday support the brother's release but they first have to admit to

02:40:04 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 2:

what he says are decades of lies it requires them to finally after 30 plus years fully acknowledge and completely accept responsibility for the entire breath of the crimes the DA says those lies started from the night of the

02:40:20 - 02:40:24 | Speaker 3:

murders and Hockman claims the lies continued on the witness stand and even

02:40:24 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 2:

to this day the thought that their parents were going to kill them that night of august 20th 1989 so they had to kill them first we believe was made up but the menendez

02:40:33 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 3:

family blasting the da accusing hockman of holding eric lyle and our family hostage saying he has blinders on to the fact they were repeatedly abused feared for their lives and have a tone

02:40:45 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 4:

for their actions interesting that this case got re-brought up during the election where this guy one over the other D.A. that said that he was going to let him go. But then it's also interesting that that, you know, Netflix special that came out had so many people watch that and go, it's obvious these guys were abused.

02:41:08 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I didn't know anything about the case until I watched that Netflix special. I had only I had heard of people talking about the Menendez brothers, but I did not know the details of what had happened.

02:41:15 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 4:

I wonder what Gavin Newsom is going to do, the governor of California. You know, he started he just did his own podcast, started his own podcast. Is it on iHeart? I don't know if it's on iHeart. It may be. Yeah, I think you probably get everything on iHeart. But he's been making a little bit of controversy with this podcast where he's been interviewing a bunch of people who a lot of people thought, you know, what is he doing? Because there are a lot of like Charlie Kirk and some of these Republican kind of people that, you know, he's kind of – and he did a whole change of stance on trans athletes. I wonder if this guy will let these guys off or if he's trying to redo himself a little bit politically right now where he feels like because it's obvious that this guy wants to be president of the United States, that Gavin Newsom wants to be president.

02:42:05 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 5:

You think?

02:42:05 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 4:

And I, well, I think he's trying to set himself up to be maybe the candidate for the Democrats. And I think that does that bode well for him to let the Menendez guys out? Or will people look at that, that he's like a soft on crime kind of guy? I don't know. I don't know. I, I think when watching that thing, those guys have served their time. And I think that they probably had bad, you know, legal, you know, people that were in effect. And I think times have changed, you know?

02:42:32 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, by the way, speaking of podcasts, I totally forgot to talk about this. The iHeartRadio Podcast Awards were yesterday. Really? Did we win? And I want to shout out, we did not win.

02:42:41 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 4:

We don't get anything. I'm sick of that.

02:42:43 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 5:

Jason and Travis Kelsey won. Bob Pitman, what's up, bro? Mel Robbins, I love her. She took home a trophy. And one of your faves, Las Culturistas, took home actually like podcast of the year.

02:42:54 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Mel Robbins? You know, a moment in time where the world feels overwhelming and kind of dark, I think it's really cool that people are turning to very positive programming. They're listening to things that are going to help them improve their life instead of escape their life. And that's a huge opportunity for all of us to be a lighthouse when the world feels dark.

02:43:12 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 5:

You know, best overall host is what you want.

02:43:14 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 4:

I was told by The Joe Show, because I don't ever look at these numbers because I have no idea where I would look to get these numbers. But Joe just sent me a text message literally two days ago that said that our show is the number two most listened to podcast in the iHeart family.

02:43:33 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 5:

Bruh. Who's beating us right now? Come on, man. Elvis?

02:43:36 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 4:

He wouldn't tell me because he thinks it would bother me. Mel Robbins probably. No, I think it's radio shows. Bobby P, come on, man. We love you. You got to start showing the Midwest kids some love. What do we got to do to get on the radar? I don't know. What's happening? I don't know, man. I'm telling you. Number two at iHeart, that ain't nothing to see. There's rumors that Odyssey needs some on-air talent. Maybe we need to, like, get it all.

02:44:00 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, is your contract up this year or my contract's up this year? My contract's up at the end of the year.

02:44:04 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 4:

Maybe we need a little cross-the-street motion, huh? What's your mom say? The what-fur. The what? What's your mom say? No, what-fur. Yeah, what fur is going on? She said, I'll give you what-fur. That is like a person saying, I'm going to give you the switch. or something like that. That was like, I'll give you a... That has nothing to do with this. I feel like it does. We can make it work. All right. All right. Moving on.

02:44:29 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 5:

An alleged victim who has sued Diddy in the past is now roping some other people into her lawsuit. She is accusing NFL star Odell Beckham Jr. and comedian Druski of gang-raping her in 2018 with Diddy. The former New York Giants wide receiver allegedly took part in this violent sexual assault of a Diddy accuser named Ashley Parham, one of the few who is actually coming out and giving her name. This happened inside of a home in California back in 2018.

02:45:00 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 1:

Odell Beckham Jr. did hop on X to dismiss the allegations yesterday afternoon saying he was nowhere near this city in California at the time, nor has he ever even visited the area. Kev, you mentioned earlier today when we were talking about this, that he made a comment about he was broken in Atlanta.

02:45:20 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Drewski said he wasn't even a celebrity at the time, let alone had the access to Diddy.

02:45:26 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 1:

OBJ said, I've never done anything like that. I would never do anything like that. I am confident that these ridiculous claims against me will be dismissed.

02:45:35 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 4:

The timing of this is not good for Odell Beckham Jr. because the free agency is right now, and this is when this guy wants to get signed.

02:45:42 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Bruh, she put in one of the documents, she said that instead of Drewski raping her, he instead lubed himself up with like this baby oil and utilized her as a slip and slide. And then, what kind of parties was this guy throwing? This is a Diddy party? This is all Diddy stuff. That's what she said.

02:46:04 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if this was a Diddy party particularly, but he was there.

02:46:07 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Good Lord. He was there. Amazing.

02:46:09 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, a Virginia high school sprinter suffered a concussion and a skull fracture. Oh, I'm glad you're doing this story. When her competitor smashed her in the back of her head with a relay baton during their race. A student named Kayleen Tucker was the second leg runner for the four by 200 meter relay. She was attempting to, like, cut into a different lane during a battle. It was a very heated battle for second place. Well, instead of blocking her entry, which is normal, I've watched a bazillion of these firsthand, her opponent slowed down, wound her arm back, and smacked the baton across Kayleen's head. And, of course, it was all captured on video. and she is now speaking and saying it was not intentional.

02:46:53 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, right.

02:46:54 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 1:

You're not thinking of my mental right.

02:46:57 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

They're going off of one angle. A couple times I was hitting her, my baton got stuck behind her back like this, and it rolled up her back. I lost my balance, and when I pumped my arms again, she got hit. I felt my intentions, and I would never hit somebody on purpose. This is the girl that hit her with the baton. Ghetto, racist slurs, death threats, all of this.

02:47:18 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 1:

If you watch that video, she winds up extraordinarily intentional.

02:47:23 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that was assault. I'm surprised if she doesn't get charged for something like that.

02:47:28 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 1:

It's tough to argue after the video. I mean, I don't care what angle you're watching it from. It's all the same. Yeah. Okay, for all of today's dirty, search the Mojo in the Morning Show on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:47:40 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 4:

I mean, these guys had such a good streak going once we changed out our coach. And I feel like ever since we got back from the, you know, USA-Canada thing, that things haven't been going great for these guys. I want to cheer them on. Let's get them a win. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th Caller, 844-665-6548. Tickets to see the wings available at Ticketmaster.com or win them from us if you're the 95th Caller. Back with War of the Rises.

All right. Detroit Red Wings. Saw the greatest TikTok the other day. I hadn't seen this, and I guess it had happened a while ago, but it was a TikTok where Dylan Larkin was in pregame skates, skates and he was shooting the puck and i guess he knocked over the beer of a guy that was sitting there in the front row just kind of like watching the whole thing happen and uh it was awesome

02:48:57 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 5:

oh i can't handle it oh sorry oh no oh no he knocks over the guy's beer where'd zuby go zuby you got your you got your wallet on you yeah you got 20 bucks i think so i got 20 bucks in my dry saw i knocked over the guy's beer you got what i knocked over the guy's beer i feel bad right behind right behind the net see him yeah isn't that great yeah so you

Emily.

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 1:

We should have a sign that says, Jimmy, give me the cash. Jimmy, give me the money.

02:50:03 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 2:

We got to make Jimmy even more famous than who knows what he is. I don't know. I don't know what Jimmy does. Maybe he's equipment manager or something or assistant coach.

02:50:10 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 1:

He's got to be on LinkedIn, right?

02:50:11 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 2:

Got to be. He's got money. He's got money in his wallet, according to Dylan Larkin. What's up, Emily? Are you there? Hi. Yes, I am here. Emily, you're a winner. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with tickets to see the Wings take on the Buffalo Sabres. Have a great time. Thank you. Who are you taking with you?

02:50:27 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it. Thank you so much. I'm my boyfriend.

02:50:29 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Here, you know what? You and your boyfriend just ask for Jimmy and say, Jimmy needs to get us a beer, okay?

02:50:37 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay. See how that works. Thank you.

02:50:39 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 2:

All right. We love you, Emily. Thank you. All right. Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it.

02:50:44 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 3:

Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:48 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Thomas, why is it that you think that your wife is cheating on you?

02:50:52 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, lately, I will come home from work early, and I catch her remaking the bed and washing the sheets, like, in the middle of the day. And that's kind of weird to me since we usually only wash our bedding about every couple of weeks.

02:51:10 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 2:

Is this something new that she's doing because she wants to be more clean? Or have you asked her about, like, why she's doing it?

02:51:21 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 3:

You know, I haven't really asked her about it. I just noticed that it's, it's an, it's a relatively new, uh, change in behavior. Uh, I also, uh, and this is also, you know, something that's kind of stuck out in my mind is that, uh, she takes out the bedroom trash like a lot more often, you know? And, and what's weird about that is that that was usually like my job, you know, one of my household chores.

02:51:49 - 02:51:59 | Speaker 2:

So she's cleaning up around the house a lot more than she has cleaned up. And that in itself to you is unusual because she has not been this way before. She's never been this clean.

02:51:59 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

It's not the house. It's our bedroom. It isn't just that she's cleaning the house more often. It's the bedroom.

02:52:05 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting because he also had mentioned that he thought about putting a ring cam in the house, but he was worried about doing that because he was worried about what legally it could do. I've never thought about that. I wonder how many spouses will put a ring camera in their bedroom and stuff, which is interesting, you know. Okay, so I find this to be maybe not the most suspicious behavior, but also I don't live in your relationship, so I don't know what she normally is like.

02:52:34 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 1:

Right, I think about myself, and I go through spurts of, like, going crazy with cleaning my house, and other times it's just, like, a more normal routine. So I don't know. The fact that it's just the bedroom a little strange to me and not the whole house, but...

02:52:49 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 2:

So when she does the garbage, it's just the bedroom garbage, and it's not anywhere else in the house that the garbage is being taken out.

02:52:57 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 3:

Right, right. Like she's just collecting up the trash bin from the bedroom and putting that out. You know, it's just, you know, like I said, it's just something that I used to do.

02:53:07 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:53:08 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:53:08 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to do this. We're going to see where she's going to send a dozen free roses. We're going to try to see if we can get her to send flowers out. Sometimes women don't necessarily like to do that, and we'll see what's going on here. And then if we don't get her to send the flowers, we'll obviously ask her some questions and talk to her a little bit about this. It's the War of the Roses, and we're hoping that the flowers go to Thomas. Mute your phone, okay? All right. Here we go.

02:53:47 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

hello hi is this sharon it is who is this hi sharon my name is nicole i'm calling from a brand new online floral company called roses bloom.com i'm actually calling you with an offer for some free flowers if you have like under a minute to answer some survey questions we're gonna give you some a floral arrangement that you could send today totally free of charge to you? Would you be? Um, okay. Totally free. Okay. Do you need any of like my personal information or? I'm not going to need any of your personal information. So is there a man in your life that you'd maybe want to send some cool flowers to? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Let me ask you the survey questions and then we'll get to all of that. Have you purchased flowers?

02:55:00 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 2:

the last six months, Sharon? At the grocery store. Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Sure. Yes. Okay. As a thank you for participating in the survey, rosesbloom.com is now authorized to provide you with this arrangement. So I need to go ahead. I'm going to get a first name and a last name. Again, we're hoping that you'll send these to um a gentleman in your life just a first and a last name and a phone number is what i need from

02:55:32 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 3:

you first uh okay um matthew okay and the phone number is um two three

02:55:50 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 2:

okay and what's his relationship to you uh he is my brother okay and Sharon instead of sending a card like a standard paper card with the flowers at rosesbloom.com we like to make it a little more personal so I'm gonna have you record a voice note and that is going to be texted to Matthew alerting him he has a delivery he'll be able to play this voice note and know that his sister sent him some flowers okay so you can say whatever you want. I'm just going to count you down. Uh, okay. Here we go. Three, two, one.

02:56:31 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Matthew. I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you and how grateful I am that

02:56:40 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 2:

you are in my life. Okay. Awesome. And Sharon, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that yeah okay sharon i'm

02:56:54 - 02:57:53 | Speaker 1:

going to jump on real quick and just then we'll send those flowers off um okay okay i just wanted to let you know uh because this is kind of a an odd thing to have happen but uh we are going to send the flowers to matthew but i just wanted to let you know that this is actually the mojo in the morning show and we're a radio show that was doing something where we were trying to see where somebody would send flowers and the person that was hoping that you would send them flowers unfortunately uh didn't get them but I'm sure would be happy with the fact that you're sending flowers to your brother that was kind of sweet but uh your husband Thomas is on the phone and Thomas was uh trying to see where you would send a dozen free roses to And Thomas You're not You're not upset that she's sending flowers to her brother Are you?

02:57:55 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 3:

If it was her brother I wouldn't be

02:57:58 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 1:

If it was her brother If it was her brother What do you mean by that?

02:58:06 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 3:

That's not the name of her brother That's That's our neighbor.

02:58:17 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 1:

Sharon? Just hung up the phone. That's your neighbor? Yep.

02:58:28 - 02:58:30 | Speaker 2:

Does she even have a brother?

02:58:31 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 3:

No, no, she doesn't have a brother. There's no other Matthew in our lives.

02:58:35 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 1:

Is he married or is he a single girl?

02:58:39 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:58:40 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 1:

Wow. All right. I'm going to try to see if we can get her back on the phone. We'll see what we can do. Hold on one second.

02:58:50 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 3:

Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids.

02:59:00 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 1:

WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:59:03 - 02:59:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:59:05 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 1:

Live. mojo in the morning war of the roses just moments ago she sent flowers to a guy that she called her brother I don't know why she would say that's my brother unless she obviously didn't want to tell a person who was the telemarketing person wanting to know where you're going to send the flowers to that it's a guy that she's hanging out with because obviously we've had it before where people just go that's somebody i'm seeing or somebody i'm dating or it's the person i'm with weird yeah it's my brother um also the other thing uh too this is an interesting thing where he suspected they were cheating because of how she was in their bedroom I don't know. which obviously means that she's been bringing this guy to her bedroom. Has anybody ever caught their significant other cheating in their bedroom? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Lexi, what would you do?

03:00:16 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I would be at that front door knocking to let that wife know, or I would call like an HOA meeting.

03:00:22 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 1:

Which, oh, you're talking about the HOA.

03:00:25 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 3:

You're talking about the neighbor.

03:00:26 - 03:00:27 | Speaker 2:

Put that right on the neighborhood Facebook page.

03:00:27 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 3:

Talk about the street. Like, there's no way I'd be going home looking at that front door knowing my husband or wife was baking cookies with the neighbor. Like, that's not happening. No way.

03:00:38 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's going to be an awkward neighborhood right now after what just happened just a couple of minutes ago. Dan, what's up? It's Mojo and the Morning Show, War of the Roses. Hi.

03:00:50 - 03:00:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hi. How we doing?

03:00:52 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 1:

We're doing okay, man. What did you want to say?

03:00:54 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, it was definitely a red flag to get rid of the bathroom trashes, like getting rid of your evidence of sex. You can't use condoms and wrappers in there.

03:01:08 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 1:

Especially if you're not the person that normally takes that garbage out. It does seem awkward, doesn't it, that all of a sudden the garbage has suddenly become cleaned out.

03:01:16 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 2:

And making the bed in the middle of the day.

03:01:20 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's super sus. I mean, the only time we change our bedroom trash is when we have sex. You can't leave. It'll start to produce a smell.

03:01:31 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

03:01:33 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 5:

You didn't have to go that far.

03:01:37 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 1:

A lot of information for us. No, I know the details. Eat more fruit. Tiffany, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Where are the roses?

03:01:46 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

03:01:47 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Morning. What's happening?

03:01:49 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I was just calling. about the message that she left i felt like that was a super red flag for me when she said i'm so happy that you're in my life i love my brother but i would never say that well but any type of

03:02:04 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 1:

capacity that didn't tip me off at all that didn't make me any uh weirder until after you know he had said that that's not her brother she didn't have a brother that you know okay it's a brother you

03:02:15 - 03:02:19 | Speaker 2:

actually sounded like a message you would send to your to a brother i mean that wasn't strange i

03:02:19 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 1:

don't know what your relationship is like with your brother but i think that you know it was kind of semi-sweet but then to hear that that's not her brother and that's now the neighbor who is a married neighbor um tiffany what do you think about them cheating in the bedroom that's

03:02:35 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 5:

that's got to be a tough thing for him to deal with yes i feel like that's the lowest of the low i mean cheating already in itself it's horrible to have to deal with but to know that's your marital bed where you sleep every night changing the sheet don't change the seat i'll say that

03:02:55 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 1:

change the sheets don't change the seat mc light yeah thanks for the call tiffany i appreciate it i still can't get past the smell thing that was crazy what's going on amy how you doing hey great how are you guys we're doing okay by the way we're trying to get uh we got thomas uh but we're trying to see if we can get her back on the phone with us and see if Sharon will come back on with us to explain herself, but we're running into difficulty. Go ahead. What was your comment?

03:03:28 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 2:

Sharon is just dumb because what is Matthew's wife going to say when he gets a dozen long-stem red roses from the female neighbor?

03:03:39 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, and that's the thing.

03:03:40 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 2:

It's a different flower arrangement.

03:03:41 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 1:

But you're right. But also it's going to be sent to his phone, so that was the thing. That's the reason why she was doing it. I think she was probably thinking that he was never going to show her.

03:03:51 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 2:

But the flowers are going to be sent to the house.

03:03:52 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, he gets to pick where the address is on this. That's kind of the deal. When we do send flowers out, we text that person and give them all the information, and we actually send flowers from a florist of their choice. But you're right, though. Okay. You're right. I mean, I think that was probably the only saving grace of why she would send the flowers to him. Nick, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey, how's it going? Good, man. War of the Roses.

03:04:19 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 5:

So my theory is she's taking out the trash so much because she's meeting the neighbor outside.

03:04:25 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I never even thought about that. But I like that you got your private investigative hat on.

03:04:30 - 03:04:34 | Speaker 3:

There's too many ring cameras. I feel like that's more dangerous.

03:04:36 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 1:

They could be meeting on the side of the house. Nick, I just thought it was the whole taking out the sex. The smelly condoms.

03:04:47 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 5:

Why wouldn't they just get rid of that at the time?

03:04:50 - 03:04:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

03:04:51 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 5:

She's just going to leave it in the garbage and take it later. I mean, it could be both, but I personally think they could be meeting each other outside, a little kissy here or there or whatnot.

03:05:00 - 03:05:14 | Speaker 2:

You make a good point. It's almost like she wanted to get caught. The fact that she's, you know, strategically taking out the trash and it's well known that that's not normal. Or like making the bed when he's aware that she's making the bed. You'd be smarter than that, right?

03:05:15 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Initial B on line number eight wants to be voices, guys. Hi. What's up, B?

03:05:21 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

03:05:23 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

03:05:23 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 5:

My brother caught his wife cheating at work in their car, and he got arrested.

03:05:35 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 3:

Wait.

03:05:36 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 5:

Arrested?

03:05:36 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 3:

What did he do to get arrested?

03:05:38 - 03:05:42 | Speaker 5:

He rammed the car. Oh, bro. Two rams. Probably not the best idea.

03:05:43 - 03:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So he saw this and just floored his car right into it?

03:05:48 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

03:05:50 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 3:

Man.

03:05:51 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 5:

he has like he's on the news or whatever this happened a while ago wait what did the police

03:05:59 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 3:

do when they found out that he was ramming the car that his wife was in with another guy from her work i don't know i just caught her a horse wow it's it's interesting i would think as a cop you'd go okay it's kind of understandable although you probably shouldn't be ramming the car uh Kiera, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hello. What's up, Kiera?

03:06:25 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey. So I was agreeing with the other caller about the way that the message that she left for her brother. It's not the fact that, like, she said, I'm happy that you're in my life. Like, I have a brother that I am very close to. And that wasn't like a brotherly, sisterly message. So that was the first tip-off to me. And then second of all, why would you bring trouble that close to home? Like, why would you do that in your home, in your bed? That is outrageous to me. I've never understood cheating in your home.

03:06:59 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 3:

But the thing is, it's opportunity. So it's the neighbor, it's close, and there's their opportunity.

03:07:06 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 4:

And then what if they, like, fall out or whatnot? You have to live there. That's your home. They have to live there.

03:07:13 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 3:

Who has to sell their home? the wife and the husband or this guy Matthew and his you know I mean like if how do you live in the

03:07:20 - 03:07:33 | Speaker 4:

same neighborhood I know like I would never if I was single I would never date someone like that lives across the street from me or in my complex like that's too close to home for comfort you've

03:07:33 - 03:07:39 | Speaker 3:

never had though a neighbor that you thought was interestingly enough the I did I did and I did

03:07:39 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 4:

not approach only because and when i say hot like fire hot but i did not approach because they live

03:07:45 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 3:

in my same complex that's a no-no yeah so it's not worth having to uh pick up and get a mover

03:07:53 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 4:

and all the rest of that stuff that's exactly what's about to have to happen because matthew's

03:07:59 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 3:

wife is about to fly off the hinges i know i would that's the one yeah that's crazy well well Thank you, Kira. I appreciate it. Thanks for the call. The War of the Roses. What is this War of the Roses title then? What do you say? The Stinky Carpenter. The Smelly Trenner. Get each away. Should we say? I don't know. Cheated. A Stinky Neighbor. Well, I don't know. We got to come up with some kind of a name for it. It has to have a good name. The Neighbors are Nymphos. Smelly Condoms is good. Smelly Condoms.

03:08:31 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 1:

But like, can we do an audio title where it's Smelly Cat, but it's smelly condoms.

03:08:36 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Smelly condoms. Smelly condoms.

03:08:39 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 1:

What are they? I'm not going to finish that. They're from Matthew.

03:08:44 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 3:

The home of the second date update.

03:08:46 - 03:08:47 | Unknown:

Throwback throwdown.

03:08:47 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 3:

War of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. I got a bunch of comments from some of the things that we did earlier this morning on the show, But I have a couple questions I wanted to ask and see what your guys' thoughts were on this. First question that I wanted to ask before anybody goes any further is there are some places where I never know what to get. One of them is I went to the car wash yesterday because the weather was nice. And when I went to the car wash, it was not the car wash that I normally have my club membership at. It was like the office. Well, they didn't have one near me.

03:09:34 - 03:09:34 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:09:35 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 3:

So I was kind of like not there. So I walked or drove through it and got up to the front. And when the guy holding up all the money in front of me says, which one do you want? I looked at the board and I never know which car wash to get. Like I never have an idea of whether or not I'm getting scammed by buying the $17.99.

03:10:00 - 03:10:25 | Speaker 1:

car wash compared to the $10 car wash you get the basic of basics really yes but I feel like my undercarriage needs to get clean who's seen your under carriage you know that's very personal pull up at a stoplight and look at the car next to you and go they got the upgrade they got the $17 one no don't I don't know but I feel like I'm missing out on something like I feel like feel

03:10:25 - 03:10:30 | Speaker 3:

judged by the employees yeah you don't do it like oh that bastard well I

03:10:30 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 1:

definitely feel like they make the prices so that you have to give the guy a tip or something at the end you gotta do that regardless though no no the guy I'm telling you that push the place I went to yesterday doesn't even try you it just literally at the end they have a vacuum that dries but they don't have people out there with the little top I hate when they do when I went to

03:10:48 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 2:

yesterday because I never have cash I'm not gonna tip you but I just feel bad I

03:10:52 - 03:10:53 | Speaker 1:

I always wave at them.

03:10:53 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 2:

Some places now have it right before you go in. So it's like on your, you can add it to your card.

03:10:58 - 03:11:04 | Speaker 1:

I actually, Megan, you know what I do? Is I wave at them to let them know I'm going to air dry it while I'm driving.

03:11:04 - 03:11:13 | Speaker 3:

You know what I've never seen? A car where I go, oh, they had that towel dried. Right. I mean, I do it to look out for the guys. That's their job, bro.

03:11:13 - 03:11:37 | Speaker 1:

But the problem is sometimes I, like even at the Jack's Car Wash that I have the monthly membership at, I don't necessarily have money in my car all the time. So I always feel bad. So I wave at them and say, hey, thumbs up, guys. Thank you. You're going to get a car off here. So if you're a person that works at a car wash, you've got to let us know. Aren't all the car washes the same? Like the cheapest car wash is probably the same car wash I'm getting.

03:11:37 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, I disagree with you there. I don't think they're putting any kind of codes in there. I truly feel like Jax is superior because they have the equipment that gets all the angles. No, you're not the same spots.

03:11:46 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 3:

You're paying for different colored soaps. They're all the same soap. I'm trying to get them to advertise.

03:11:49 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 2:

Just go with me. They're all the same soap.

03:11:51 - 03:12:13 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you what, I'm not allowing Jacks to advertise until they come in on the show and let me do an in-depth interview with them to find out which car wash I should get. Get the basic, bro. They can try to spend all the money they want. They better come in here and tell me which car wash to get. The other thing, too, is what, when you go to the gas station, what kind of gas do you get?

03:12:13 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 3:

The cheapest.

03:12:14 - 03:12:45 | Speaker 1:

Regular me down, bro. But here's the thing. I've heard that the premium with cleaning, whatever the heck, cleans your fuel injectors. And who doesn't want to have dirty fuel injectors? Who's been lying to you? I always wonder. I want to talk to experts. I want to do a podcast, and I want the podcast to be basically all these questions. The other one, too, is which car insurance? Is that a fart, or what was that?

03:12:45 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 2:

It's like a phone vibrator. They're doing construction in the building.

03:12:49 - 03:13:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it sounded like somebody beefed in the corner there. Beefed. I want to know, what kind of car insurance should I get? I'm dealing with that right now. Like, I never know which deductible I should get, which car insurance I should get, where I should go to get it. Please text us 95500. No, call us. I want to talk to you. Yeah, do that too. And then the other one is, why is it that now with my Amazon Prime, I used to be able to order things and get it the day. Now I order things, and if I want to get it now, I have to pay an extra $2. I thought Amazon Prime was Prime. I thought it was like, why did they screw us on that?

03:13:23 - 03:13:36 | Speaker 2:

Hey, let me tell you something. I thought I paid for a streaming service and got everything on that streaming service, and Amazon Prime is the worst service because I still pay for every single thing that I Be careful. want to watch on there. What's up with the ads? It is BS.

03:13:37 - 03:13:38 | Speaker 1:

We're trying to get them to advertise, so don't.

03:13:38 - 03:13:57 | Speaker 3:

It is BS. Netflix locks some of their content. It's like, you got to pay more. For real? Yes. I haven't seen it on Netflix yet. You probably pay for the most expensive package. If you don't pay for the most expensive package, you get ads and some of their content is locked and you cannot watch it. And it's mostly original programming.

03:13:57 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there are so many things I don't know the answer to, and I feel like I'm getting screwed. I feel like, honestly, every single day of my life, I've got somebody saying, you know, stick them up. You know what I mean? Yeah. And robbing. Every which way? Because they're robbing you in a different way. They're robbing you through your being dumb.

03:14:15 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so if you go to a bar and you order a margarita, are they really giving me the Casamigos that I want, or are they giving me just the well tequila?

03:14:26 - 03:14:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, because you don't watch them pour it from the bottom.

03:14:27 - 03:14:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm not watching. Half the time I'm not. Actually, I should watch more now that I think about this.

03:14:31 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, I always believe they refill those bottles.

03:14:33 - 03:14:34 | Speaker 2:

For sure.

03:14:34 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Like half water or something? No, they refill them with whatever the cheapest vodka is into the whatever good vodka bottle they have. And I agree with you, Shannon. In a margarita, with a margarita mix, am I really needing to have good tequila in the thing? Or is having just the basic of basic tequilas okay because you got a mix in there?

03:14:55 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 2:

But I'm paying for the one that I ordered. I mean, if we want to go there...

03:15:00 - 03:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Margarita. Who wants a margarita? If we want to go there, if we want to go there, how do we know when you go get a flu shot if they're really giving you the flu shot? I don't know.

03:15:12 - 03:15:13 | Speaker 2:

That's conspiracy stuff.

03:15:14 - 03:15:18 | Speaker 3:

You took it too far. Why y'all looking at it? Why? How did you take it too far? That's not to say it was patrol.

03:15:18 - 03:15:41 | Speaker 2:

No, if you don't say stuff like that, the government will shut us off. I mean, I'm just saying. But it's true, though. We don't know. Remember when they said that some people got the COVID vaccine, but some people just got nothing? I'm saying. You talk about gas. How do you know regular is really different than premium? I don't know. Kristen says her boyfriend swears by what gas? We high right now. The premium gas. Your boyfriend always gets, he makes you get premium gas?

03:15:42 - 03:16:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so when we first started dating, he thought I was like a peasant for getting cheap gas. I'm like, it's all the same. What do you drive? And he's like, I drive GMC Terrain. Babes. It doesn't matter. No, it doesn't matter. He drives the Wagoneer. He might have to get that. I'd probably get premium gas, too.

03:16:03 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 6:

You only need to get the expensive gas if you drive, like, a Porsche or a Mercedes.

03:16:08 - 03:16:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the other thing, too. Are you leasing the car or buying the car? Like, if you bought the car, I want that car to be fine. If I'm leasing the car, I'll put water in the goddamn tank. You know what I mean?

03:16:18 - 03:16:31 | Speaker 6:

Whose car has ever died, and you take it to the mechanic, and they're like, ah, it's because you use the regular gas. It's one thing if you put diesel in or regular into a diesel. That's not the case here.

03:16:31 - 03:16:44 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so listen, Megan. So I did start using the premium gas just because whatever, trying to impress him. And I swear to you, I'm saving mileage. No, you're not.

03:16:44 - 03:16:45 | Speaker 4:

I swear.

03:16:45 - 03:16:53 | Speaker 6:

If you want to impress him, just lie. Not in this economy, my love. It will not pay off. But I will say this.

03:16:53 - 03:17:04 | Speaker 2:

Some German cars, like you were talking about when you said BMW, BMW is not German, but like Audis and like Mercedes, some of them, if you put in crappy gas, I've heard that it knocks the car.

03:17:04 - 03:17:09 | Speaker 6:

That's why I said, unless you have a high performance vehicle, there's no point.

03:17:09 - 03:17:12 | Speaker 2:

But Kristen says it gets her better gas mileage and she swears by it.

03:17:12 - 03:17:16 | Speaker 6:

What are you paying in extra charges for the premium? It's not going to balance it off.

03:17:16 - 03:17:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Well, I like the people that will go to the gas station across the street, drive an extra 500 feet just to save a penny. What's up, Emily? How you doing?

03:17:25 - 03:17:56 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Hi. First time caller. Hey, there. Hey, there. Hey, there. Hey, there. Hey, there. Hey, there. So from, I'm like screaming at the radio on how many times I've stressed to my kids, you live in an area with lots of snow and they salt the road. So if you're buying a used car and the undercarriage has not been cleaned at least once after it snowed, it's nothing but rust. So their undercarriage is getting all of that salt off of your car. So your car will actually last longer.

03:17:57 - 03:18:08 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. So you've got to clean the undercarriage, Megan and Shannon and Kevin. You have never paid for your undercarriage to get clean. I pay all the time. I go for the $18 wash.

03:18:08 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm not going to lie. I need you to call him more because I like the way he said. I'm in a car wash. It's all wet.

03:18:13 - 03:18:40 | Speaker 4:

It's fine. It's getting some splashes. Yeah, there are special things that help get the salt off your car. The salt. And, like, when you're down south, it's not such a big thing because they use chat, not salt. But, because I'm not from up here in all this snow. But, yeah, if you look at cars, the older cars that you're going to go buy for your kids, the undercarriages are all rusted out. And that's because they weren't properly, like, maintained. You know, during the summer, not a big deal.

03:18:41 - 03:18:44 | Speaker 2:

Here's a question. What insurance do you get? Which kind of plan do you get?

03:18:45 - 03:18:58 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. My plan is actually higher than anything else because I have a $350,000 instead of the normal $100,000 because it's...

03:18:58 - 03:18:59 | Speaker 2:

Umbrella or something?

03:18:59 - 03:18:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm a nurse.

03:18:59 - 03:19:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, and you can get sued.

03:19:01 - 03:19:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm a nurse, and I know how much... If you're in a massive trauma and you hit somebody, $100,000 isn't going to cover it, and you have to pay that out of pocket.

03:19:10 - 03:19:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but I have to have that for them to take it, so they're not going to get it.

03:19:15 - 03:19:29 | Speaker 4:

No, they're not going to probably get it for me either, but they're going to sue you and then all the other things. And looking at your insurance rates, it went up by like $2. So I'm like, I'll pay the extra $2 and get the extra coverage and just, you know.

03:19:29 - 03:19:44 | Speaker 2:

I feel like they do it like $2 to make you feel, oh, it's not that much. It's only $2, but it always adds up. It's kind of like the difference between plans of streaming devices, you know, like Hulu Plus compared to just regular Hulu. What's up, Alex? How you doing?

03:19:45 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 1:

hey what's going on when it comes to your gas in your car it's really easy it's just you put what's recommended by the manufacturer in there if your car says use premium use premium it says use regular putting premium in won't do anything different at all it just costs

03:20:00 - 03:20:55 | Speaker 6:

you more the car's tuned for a certain octane if it's a higher compression how do you know this stuff you sound smart i used to work in the auto industry okay so um so when you open the gas cap if it says use a minimum of 87 there's no point you don't get any benefit out of putting in 93 because the car is tuned to run out of 87 octane interesting i never thought about that so the german cars yeah are a higher compression so they're a hotter burn that's why they want the premium fuel yeah as well as like a supercharged sports car like a like a high-end mustang corvette camaro something like that needs premium because it's designed to be a performance car okay however my mom drives a mercedes and she's never put anything but regular in it even though it says premium she sees no difference in her gas mileage and the computer in the vehicle will notice that it's a lower octane and adjust accordingly in newer cars oh she rich rich well no but i think

03:20:55 - 03:21:12 | Speaker 3:

what you're saying is put whatever you're putting in there but make sure you stay consistent yeah and stay with what it tells you to use okay all right uh good advice from a guy that sounds fart i don't know this guy sounds very smart uh let's get the tequila answer right now from dawn what's

03:21:12 - 03:21:19 | Speaker 5:

your tequila answer dawn hey well mojo it matters because you'll have a key-sized hangover if you

03:21:19 - 03:21:21 | Speaker 1:

stimp out on the cheap tequila.

03:21:21 - 03:21:22 | Speaker 3:

That is true.

03:21:22 - 03:21:32 | Speaker 1:

No, I agree with you. I'm just saying there are, like, I don't drink tequila enough to know, unless it's really, really terrible, if you gave me what I asked for.

03:21:32 - 03:21:32 | Speaker 4:

Right.

03:21:32 - 03:21:37 | Speaker 1:

I am trusting you as the bartender or server, but I don't know if you actually did.

03:21:37 - 03:21:39 | Speaker 3:

What tequila gives you the worst hangovers?

03:21:39 - 03:21:39 | Speaker 1:

Me?

03:21:40 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:21:40 - 03:21:41 | Speaker 5:

For me?

03:21:41 - 03:21:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:21:42 - 03:21:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, like Cuervo? Yes.

03:21:45 - 03:22:15 | Speaker 3:

The worst. Jose? and Patron for some reason for me too. No, that's wild. Patron, I need the sipping tequilas. Like I need the really, or the Casa Amigos. Oh, I knew that was coming. Yeah. Terra Combo, that's a vibe too. I only do Casa Amigos because I want to look like George Clooney because I got gray hair. And doesn't he own it? Does he own it? Yeah, he does. And as far as vodkas are concerned, I never drink any of the Russian vodkas.

03:22:16 - 03:22:17 | Speaker 1:

I only do Grey Goose.

03:22:17 - 03:22:24 | Speaker 3:

The Russian, no, I do Tito's. I do Tito's. Tito's a vodka. But the Russian vodkas give me the worst headaches.

03:22:24 - 03:22:32 | Speaker 1:

But again, I don't know vodka well enough. Or like, I don't know if you're giving me Tito's or something else, really. I just don't. Same.

03:22:32 - 03:22:33 | Speaker 3:

Tom, what's up, buddy?

03:22:35 - 03:22:54 | Speaker 4:

You got to get the polish wax when you go to the car wash. No. Or whatever. Oh, yeah, you do. Because it lubricates your car. Once you go past them first turns. I said the word of the day. You don't get no lubrication on your paint or anything. It hurts your paint and your clear coat. You got to get a good one.

03:22:54 - 03:22:57 | Speaker 3:

Now, Megan loves the word lubricate. I knew for 30 years. I'm telling you.

03:22:57 - 03:22:58 | Speaker 4:

You got to.

03:22:58 - 03:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Megan thinks lubrication is not necessary, but we all know without lubrication, what happens? Squeaky, squeaky. It doesn't work.

03:23:07 - 03:23:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it doesn't work. It doesn't work. It's done. Yes. More done. Yes. We got a sheriff's meeting tonight. Don't forget. Oh, my God. That's right. We got it. You'll bring the lube. Sheriff Bouchard.

03:23:20 - 03:23:24 | Speaker 3:

We're going to be sitting there with Sheriff Bouchard. All right, Tom. All right.

03:23:24 - 03:23:24 | Speaker 5:

See you tonight.

03:23:25 - 03:23:29 | Speaker 3:

See you tonight. See you, Tom. Take care. That's Tom. He wants to lubricate.

03:23:29 - 03:23:31 | Speaker 5:

I love when people call you Tom in a heavy accent.

03:23:31 - 03:23:32 | Speaker 3:

I know.

03:23:32 - 03:23:32 | Speaker 5:

Tommy.

03:23:33 - 03:23:35 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Melissa? Last call, Melissa.

03:23:36 - 03:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Hi, guys. How are you? Good.

03:23:38 - 03:23:38 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

03:23:40 - 03:23:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, not much. I just wanted to comment with the alcohol and, you know, tequila situation. It is very illegal for any restaurant bartender to marry liquor bottles. So they're not allowed to put cheap tequila, like, in a Patron bottle. Like, that is so illegal.

03:23:58 - 03:24:02 | Speaker 1:

And nobody's ever done it before. I'm not even talking about that. I'm just saying, how do I know you're going to find a doctor?

03:24:02 - 03:24:05 | Speaker 5:

It's not illegal to frown upon, like, masturbating on an airplane.

03:24:06 - 03:24:10 | Speaker 1:

That they're not pouring, like, just pouring Quavo in my drink if I ordered something different.

03:24:11 - 03:24:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you've got to watch them the entire time.

03:24:13 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 1:

You do have to watch them. But if you're sitting at a table, how do you know?

03:24:16 - 03:24:22 | Speaker 3:

I walk up to the bar and I say, I want to watch you do this.

03:24:22 - 03:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Please let me watch you pour my drink. That's right.

03:24:25 - 03:24:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Melissa. I appreciate you.

03:24:28 - 03:24:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, guys. Have a good one.

03:24:29 - 03:25:04 | Speaker 3:

03:25:06 - 03:25:40 | Speaker 3:
