00:03:00 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 3:

good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show good to have you guys here with us it's cold outside man oh man i know that spring yeah it's this is what i think march and april does all the time doesn't it it's like teases you and then all of a sudden whop there it is It's gone. I'm going to do my stuff. What is going on outside today? You're going to have to turn the heat on. I actually walked outside and I realized I'm like, oh, this coat ain't going to work. And I ended up bringing a bigger coat in today. We got a good one for you. We got five lies to tell your mom coming up. Daughter's going to tell her mom that she got evicted because she didn't tell her landlord, which is, by the way, true. So she's probably going to get herself evicted after doing this five lies. that she has a pet mom not too happy because mom just recently got every kid out of the house was hoping to empty nest her reaction is priceless that's happening just after seven o'clock and then second date update this morning here on the show do you have to tell them everything that you do for a living and his shock to find out what her job is coming up at 8 20 it's mojo in the morning show Shannon had one of those days yesterday which kind of worries me because we were together for a client lunch and I'm thinking to myself I'm like wait when she says I had a day like this yesterday I'm going I think I was

00:04:40 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

part of most of her day good part of the day okay good all right so it was a day after you got home no well so I have a sick kiddo at home Smith has this whatever is going around, whether it's influenza or norovirus or something. So I have been cleaning up bodily fluids.

00:05:00 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 4:

like nonstop throughout the night for two days now and so yesterday was my you know first day coming into the studio after having been up truly all night I think I got maybe three and a half hours of sleep um just trying to take care of him and so I was really tired and then I felt like I felt like such a dud during the show yesterday because I was just so sleepy and then we had a lunch meeting after the show which was really fun mojo and then I went home and as soon as I got home thank goodness my mom was you know with Smith while I was here at work yesterday but it was back to taking care of a sick kid and it was just it was it gets to be a lot right and so not helping the my cause my case were my three dogs don't ever get three dogs every time I talk about this let me just remind you one more time yes they are cute um but i mean and the two bigger dogs we have a frenchie and a cavaboo and they're just they bark and bark and bark and bark at every person and every dog that is walking by when they are outside in my backyard and so i had them outside because i don't want them to be right up in my business when i'm trying to clean up barf which was a good chunk of my day and so i had them outside and they it got to the point where they were barking barking barking because so many people were out it was nice and walking that i got embarrassed and mad and i won't like i lost my mind i'm sure that people could hear me yelling at the park that's at the very end of my street like especially bo the puppy i was yelling at him and i went to grab his collar to bring him inside i mean i actually lost my spit and i look up i hear somebody say hey shannon and it is my brand new friend that i just made a couple of weeks ago she is way cooler than me you made a new friend i did i remember i told you i went out on a friend date oh and it was her and her husband and their baby and their dog walking by as i am in the midst of just being an absolute monster and you know how you look up very slowly with just shame in your face because they they saw it all from start to finish wow so i was really mortified

00:07:26 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

it's funny i i i don't uh relate to the whole new friend thing but i relate to when my dogs are pains in the asses especially my dog henry and he runs out in the street and i feel like he's going to get hit by a car and I'm screaming at them to the point that neighbors see you do that and they think they need to call the humane society or something you ever feel like

00:07:46 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 4:

that I'm like they think I abuse my dogs which I do not my dogs are very very spoiled but I texted her at 6 29 p.m yesterday saying not me still feeling embarrassed that you totally saw

00:07:59 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 2:

me in monster mode over here do you think she'll not call you back anymore like this will be one of those things where it's like oh she's one of those i bet she went home and talked about you

00:08:09 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 4:

she's cool they for sure did her husband her husband was trying to fuel the fire too he he as they were walking around the corner and saw me at this happening he goes oh yeah those people there's a bunch of girls over there that said yeah that's lucy's house it's the one where the

00:08:24 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 2:

dogs are constantly barking do your dogs ever just bark and they bark at nothing like they're barking at the wind like your dogs ever do that my dogs like bark literally at nothing yes it's

00:08:43 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 4:

like they see ghosts or something so i i'm going through a training process with beau he's really good inside the house about not barking but as soon as he's outside and he's been outside a ton lately because it's been nice yeah it's like he's like i'm free it just goes ape i'm sure that's how

00:08:58 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

you prefer it though he's using his outside voice i hate by the way the neighbors that leave their dogs out and just all that and i don't want to that's what i don't want yeah yeah that's like

00:09:09 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

my grandma's house my grandma has some dogs in the backyard first off i feel like if your dog is a certain height you need a larger fence yeah your dog can get both paws on the top of the fence It's like he's telling you I will bite your head. I can get over there if I wanted to.

00:09:24 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 3:

No, you got to be worried about my dog. My dog can jump like five feet. Oh, no. Your dog's fat. I know. It's terrifying. Wow. The dumbass doesn't realize she can hop the fence and get out the front door because she can jump higher than it. She's just scared of it. Thank God.

00:09:39 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, don't ever let that happen once because once that happens once, you're screwed. What's going on, Dawn? How you doing?

00:09:47 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Shannon. And so you need to get your dogs. They are vibrating bark collars. We tried. Really? Yeah, it doesn't work.

00:09:56 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 2:

What does it do? Does it shock them or something?

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 1:

Well, they do have stock options, but then they have just a vibrating one. It was a game changer for our dogs. Really?

00:10:05 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 3:

See, unfortunately, with fluffy dogs, and Bo is really fluffy, it doesn't work.

00:10:11 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 5:

They don't feel it?

00:10:12 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 3:

No. My dog is fluffy as well. They have little extensions.

00:10:16 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, stick it right in there. Get them.

00:10:20 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

We have tried it all. We have tried the tone that plays that humans can't hear when the dogs bark in the house. They don't care. That works for my dog. Really? We've tried four different types of collars. I've spent so much money on collars. He just doesn't care.

00:10:35 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Dawn, I think I said on the radio when she got Bo, you're going to regret this. And everybody thought I was the crazy non-pet-loving.

00:10:44 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't regret it because I love him so much. But he just has his days where- It'll make a difference.

00:10:50 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

You know, the cuter they are, the bigger-

00:10:51 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

I want to give them away. That's true.

00:10:54 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 5:

The toe they are.

00:10:55 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

That is very true.

00:10:56 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the cute ones are the ones that are pains in the asses, and that's for all the ladies out there dating, too. I just want you to know that. That goes both ways. Ugly dogs, ugly men, all right? That will work for you. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Here's a question. Do you look at a neighbor differently because of something you saw them do outside of their house? Like, do you look, because Shannon, I'm telling you, the neighbor looks at you now completely differently. She now sees the I will F you up, bitch, side of Shannon.

00:11:28 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 3:

I will F you up, bitch! Yes, you are right.

00:11:31 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 5:

She now has seen the kick in the dashboard girl that you are, where you all of a sudden go crazy. They all think she's sweet and innocent. I'm telling you. Cray-cray right over her hair. When they saw you out there, they waved with a smile, but they were talking through that smile. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She crazy as you are.

00:11:50 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 3:

My only saving grace is they also have a psycho dog that barks like mad when you walk past their house, but still.

00:11:57 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, she hides her crazy well. This is Mojo in the morning.

00:12:02 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 5:

Do you think, wait, Shannon's crazy is wrapped in Gucci. Do you think, do you think the husband did the whole, you are never to hang out with her ever again? I don't know. If you ever, she ever.

00:12:16 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

We're actually double dating with them next weekend. Let's see how that goes.

00:12:19 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 5:

you out. By the way, he's going to pull Wes aside to see if he's okay.

00:12:22 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 4:

You know what you should bring with you? Earplugs. They're like, I'm really sorry.

00:12:28 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 5:

Actually, Wes should be wearing that thing that Dawn called us up about. Channing with the collar. I want to see if anybody's ever put something like that on their man. I want to know if you guys have ever done that. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Text is 95500 I love this texter. 419 says, mojo i live across the street from the neighbor who has the barking dogs i did too and then i think i talked about it on the radio and guess what the dogs are inside now that's all it takes yeah i think that that's what ended up happening i think that the people that that had the barking

00:13:06 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 4:

dogs you know you know put them inside i apologize to my one next right my one neighbor on one side had a dog that also barked then they were like my dog and their dog were friends so like thank god and then the other neighbor I apologized to one day and she goes, oh baby, I'm 80 something and I just turned my hearing aids off and I was like, thank God.

00:13:27 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 5:

Apartment's worse though, isn't it?

00:13:29 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 4:

I love my apartment except for the barking dogs. It is wild. There is a dog that lives like across from my elevator and there's a gap in our front door and every time my little dog comes out, this dog loses their mind and you could just see the snout at the bottom of the door And I'm like, oh, God, I'm sorry.

00:13:48 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, that's the crazy, too, isn't it? Where the dogs think that they can get underneath that door or they could kind of, like, slip through. Kevin's right, too, about the fence is not high enough. I don't believe that there is a fence that can keep any dog inside. If they want to get out, they'll get out. I think they're smarter than human beings, man. I think those dogs, man, they'll go right after you. 517 says, I live next to the crazy neighbor. She comes outside and just sits there and screams at trees.

00:14:14 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 4:

My kind of lady

00:14:16 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 5:

Now that actually would be kind of funny If Shannon's out there screaming at Bo And nobody sees Bo And they start thinking there's a little nuts going on

00:14:24 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day We have to go back in time Where we give you a bunch of events And you tell us what year it happened

00:14:33 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

Alright this was the year that Taylor Swift Won a counter lawsuit In a sexual assault case

00:14:40 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

The verdict came after four days of testimony with a photo of the incident as the only piece of physical evidence. It shows former radio host David Mueller posing with 27-year-old Swift before a Denver concert four years ago. His hand appears behind Swift, just below her waist. Swift says Mueller grabbed her bare butt. and didn't let go when she lurched away.

00:15:03 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 7:

Snatched, starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn, was the big movie.

Now back to the Midwest number one morning show, Mojo in the Morning. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:25 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 7:

It was the year that the Taylor Swift lawsuit against the radio host who grabbed, who allegedly grabbed her butt happened.

00:16:35 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 1:

The verdict came after four days of testimony with a photo of the incident as the only piece of physical evidence. It shows former radio host David Mueller posing with 27-year-old Swift before a Denver concert four years ago. His hand appears behind Swift, just below her waist. Swift says Mueller grabbed her bare bottom and didn't let go when she lurched away.

00:16:58 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 7:

Swift won that lawsuit, actually won $1 in that lawsuit. Snatched, starring Amy Schumer in Goldie Hawn, was the big movie.

00:17:07 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Hola. Checking for Middleton. What's this? Whale, what?

00:17:14 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 5:

Welcome. Oh, welcome. They're not serving whale, Seaman. I've got it.

00:17:19 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 7:

And big song was... I'm the one. What year was it, Shannon? Listener Shannon, what year was that? That was 2017. Yes. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with passes to go see Imagine Dragons live from the Hollywood Bowl. It's happening March 26th and 29th, and we're going to set you up with a pair of tickets. I thought it had the off button, but I just tapped a cough. Oh, and it was like, I think it actually made it up on your microphone. You might want to wipe that thing off a little bit.

00:18:28 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:30 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 7:

All right, let's get you caught up on what's trending. Shanna, what's up in the dirty?

00:18:33 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer Garner's boyfriend, John Miller, supposedly has issued an ultimatum after Ben Affleck was spotted getting a little too cozy with her. A friend of the Cali Burger CEO.

00:18:43 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 7:

You said all this was BS. Now this is turning out to not be BS.

00:18:47 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 2:

No, I still think it's all BS.

00:18:49 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 7:

Why do you think that when there's a story every single day that's new to this thing?

00:18:53 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 2:

Because I think that there's nothing else to talk about right now.

00:18:56 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 7:

Wait, but why would somebody just all of a sudden come up with stories with this? Why would they care?

00:19:01 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 2:

Why would friends of this guy come out and be like, oh, he issued an ultimatum?

00:19:06 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 7:

Because it happens all the time.

00:19:08 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 2:

Maybe.

00:19:08 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 7:

I think you have this belief, though, with this couple specifically, that they are the greatest co-parents and there's really nothing more.

00:19:16 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

there could be a relationship between them no i don't want there to be a relationship between them and i think that that's why this is so like i get so feisty about this also she has said so many times herself not like a quote-unquote source jennifer garner has has talked about how and she's very very very quiet about it but like she is very content in this relationship now we need to see her come out in this particular case yeah i mean and maybe she i mean i don't know but a friend of her now I'm all turned around a friend of her boyfriend so a friend of Jennifer Garner's longtime boyfriend said he's always been supportive of Ben and Jen's co-parenting relationship but he feels like in this instance

00:20:00 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 1:

Ben crossed the line when he reached out and was, like, embracing her at their son's birthday party. And while he knows there's nothing going on between Jen and Ben, he just says he doesn't think the photos are a good look. He feels like it's disrespectful to their relationship. And so, according to this, quote-unquote, friend, John gave Jen an ultimatum. He doesn't want to see anything like that in the media again, or he's walking away from their relationship. And, again, they've been together since, I believe, 2018. So it's been a minute.

00:20:29 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 3:

This photo that he's referencing, is this something they put out or is this like a paparazzi?

00:20:33 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 1:

It's paparazzi. I mean, you could Google and see it.

00:20:36 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 3:

How could she prevent that? If she's just giving him a hug and she can't prevent somebody from taking attention.

00:20:40 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 1:

He is giving her a hug. Yeah. Yeah. But former Pittsburgh Steelers superstar Le'Veon Bell went on a live stream to address the rape allegations that he's facing head on and vowing to do everything in his power to clear his name. His accuser, his own cousin.

00:20:58 - 00:21:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. Hey, Chad, look, I promise y'all, and I put this on my life. I put this on my life. I put this on all my kids' life, on my mom's life. I put this on everything. I have never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever pushed myself on a girl.

00:21:45 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 4:

Never. I ain't never pushed myself on nobody. Ever. And let alone, my cousin.

00:21:55 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Boom. So this story is crazy to me because this lawsuit was filed a year ago. And Bell said he didn't even know about this until TMZ reached out to him for a comment last week. And he believes the signature indicating that he was served on this thing was forged. He says, I had no idea.

00:22:22 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 2:

Le'Veon Bell, he's a Spartan, right? Michigan State grad. crazy interesting that uh that will be something to follow though but that'll be case and this might be good for him when he's close to his microphone he might not want to scream as loud

00:22:35 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 1:

as that audio is a little over modulated about a month ago a post popped up on reddit regarding one of apple tv's most popular shows at the moment are any of you guys watching severance no and i've heard it's amazing this is a big thing on tiktok apparently as well this story about to tell you apparently pet owners are having to stop watching severance because of their dogs reactions when adam scott and patricia arquette are on the screen people claim that the constant sounds of elevators dinging and cards beeping as they're being swiped during the show agitates the dogs really really bad one of the show's sound editors came forward to comment comment on this and admits that he does constantly use some high-pitched sounds which notes like dogs super sensitive hearing and experts also say the visuals of the show might be affecting the dogs as well blue is a color they seem to notice more than others for whatever reason and the show is filmed with a bluish tinge to it i love when doorbells ring on my television oh i hate it And the dogs go crazy. I'm like, you dummies.

00:23:44 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Especially commercials for Ring.

00:23:46 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 1:

I was just about to say, how new age are we when it's the Ring commercials that set my dog off? Or if I see, like, a TikTok of a Ring video and my dog goes crazy, I'm like, shut up. And lastly, the Girl Scouts are being sued for the presence of heavy metals and pesticides in its Thin Mints and other cookies. A proposed class action was filed against the Girl Scouts and the cookies licensed producers, ABC Bakers, and Ferraro USA's Little Brownie Bakers. It cites a study commissioned by Moms Across America, which tested samples of 25 cookies. The study found that these Girl Scout cookies that they tested contained at least four of five heavy metals, aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. It also said that all samples contained glyphosate. Glyphosate. I don't know. Something that starts with a G. A pesticide used in some weed killers. Thin mints contained the highest levels of this substance. This lawsuit seeking $5 million in damages.

00:24:48 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Man, I'll still eat them, though. Give me all the pesticides. All the glyphosates. Here's the deal. You're going to take away my vegetable oil, fat, and my french fries. I still got to have them. have my weed killer in my cookie am i the only one who hears this and goes i want to hear a doctor's take on this well also we we tend to like sound the alarm on you know this is the same substance that you can go to home depot and buy it and use it you know to to power wash driveway yeah and it's like a lot of these substances think think about baking soda they have a hundred million different uses depending on what you combine them with they can be safe they can also be unsafe but But it is true.

00:25:29 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 1:

I think back in like our grandparents' days, they were eating like pure food. I think that we put so much crap in food nowadays. There was never gluten back in that day. Now they put so much preservatives and crap in it, there's gluten. I'm telling you.

00:25:43 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 2:

I love how you say gluten's so fancy.

00:25:46 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

Gluten is a preservative to keep food lasting longer. And that is what I think is going on here, Megan. I really do. That's why I go over to Europe. Go over to Europe and their food is just so much cleaner. Try it. Try it. Seriously, I've been there.

00:26:02 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Try it. You try going to Europe.

00:26:03 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Go to Europe. Try the food. Go there just for the food.

00:26:06 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 2:

Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Our phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. the text is 95500 to get through to us and i appreciate you guys uh being here this morning got a lot coming up got five lies tell your mom in just a little bit uh and a daughter is going to lie to her mom saying that she needs to move back home and uh her reasoning behind moving back home was because of her cat, which to me is interesting because she truly does have a cat and she has not told her apartment people about it. So she's going to tell us the lies and then probably get herself evicted. Which is kind of interesting because it's kind of one of those ones where you're like, oh, I don't know. My moral compass comes into play. Should we do the five lies and get her into trouble or should we, you know, hey, let's do it. What the hell? She'll be all right. Yeah, we'll figure it out. And if she does need to move into anybody's place, is there a spare room in either Megan or Kevin's place or maybe Lydia's mom? Lydia, is your mom got an extra room or anything there? Oh, yeah. Let's see what's going on. All right, so that's happening coming up here in just a little bit, so stick around. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55. All right, it's time now for the 5 at 655 reigning champ is Erica. You guys know her, right? If you don't, let's get to know her again. Erica, you got yourself some vocal cords. Good morning. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What's up?

Colin, it says here that you're headed to Home Depot before work today. Is it because you got to do some home improvement stuff, or what's the reasoning? Yep, just getting some material for work today. Oh, so you actually do this for a living. You do home improvement stuff.

00:28:45 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 2:

I realize it's open this early.

00:28:47 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 1:

Is it? I think they open at like 6, yeah. Oh, my God. That is an early set. Do they have hot dogs still at Home Depot, or is that long gone? The one in Northville and Nova I do. I'm not too sure about the other locations. The best hot dogs ever if you've never been to the hot dog cart at a Home Depot. They're so good. Shelby Township has them, too. Do they? Oh, they're absolutely amazing. All right. I'm locking you up in a soundproof area, Erica. Say goodbye. Okay. Bye-bye. Can I just say one thing? Yeah, go ahead. My first time, a long time. Hey! 00:35:42 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning Sweet Five lies to tell your mom

00:35:48 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Kendall?

00:35:51 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo

00:35:52 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 2:

How you doing?

00:35:53 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 4:

good how are you first time long time

00:35:57 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 2:

all right Kendall are you ready for this we're gonna actually have a double thing we're gonna do five lives on your mom but we're also gonna celebrate your mom because mom officially has gotten everybody out of the house and she's now an official empty nester well my sister's still

00:36:18 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 4:

there. My sister's in the basement living there, but she's going to be moving out soon. Okay. So she thinks she's going to be an empty nester.

00:36:26 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so that's perfect then. That's even better because she's probably counting the days until she's getting your sister the hell out. Here are the lies. Listen for these during the five lies. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, the apartment complex found out about, do you have a dog?

00:36:43 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 1:

It's a cat, Zoe.

00:36:44 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 2:

You have a cat? They found out about Zoe. Lie number two? Say they're kicking us out and we only have two weeks. Lie number three. Say, can we come move in with you?

00:36:56 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 4:

Lie number four. You're so accommodating. Me and Andrew can take the basement.

00:37:02 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Is Andrew the man in your life? Yes. All right. And lie number five. We will try our best to be quiet when we're messing around. Okay. Try to see if you can slide that in there somewhere. We're going to call your mom up. And I want you to get through all these lies so that you can win mom a prize.

00:37:22 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay, sounds good. Oh, my God, I'm scared. Hello? Mom? Yeah? Mom? Mom, I'm freaking out right now. What's going on? Mom, they found out about Zoe. and we're getting... Mom, they found out about Zoe and we're getting evicted.

00:37:52 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:37:54 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 4:

Mom, I swear to God, I think the guy, I think the guy who fixed the toilet told on us or something. Mom, we're getting evicted and says we only have two weeks. We have to be out by the 17th.

00:38:07 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 3:

What the f***?

00:38:11 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 4:

Evicted. Evicted. They said it's my third offense for having an unauthorized pet. I have to be out in two weeks. Third offense, you've never been contacted before, have you? I did, and I didn't want to tell you. I was late paying rent last month. I didn't want to worry you. I was like a week late paying rent, and this is my third offense. They're evicting us. We have to be out in two weeks. What the f***? Mom, I'm freaking out. Is there a way you can go talk to them and say you'll be willing to pay the extra? month? I tried. I tried. They said no. They said there's no, there's nothing. It's the third event. We have no choice. We're going to, mom, can we move in with you until we figure this out? We're going to have to move in with you. What are we going to do with Zoe? We're going to have to take the basement with Zoe and Kaylee's just going to have to move into one of the guest rooms or

00:39:07 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 3:

something. I don't know. Kendall, I, I, I got to think about this. There, there's no way that Kaylee can be uprooted out of her area there's gonna have to be something else

00:39:19 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 4:

figured out I know I know we're loud but like I don't want to be in the room right next to you like we'll take the basement I promise we'll be quiet like if we're getting it on or anything I don't know I don't know why didn't you tell me any this because we couldn't help you figure this out they just left the notice on my door and i

00:39:39 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

00:42:46 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 3:

I already did it.

00:42:46 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 2:

I want to go live because I want everybody to see this guy's new head of hair that he's got here.

00:42:50 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 3:

It's not a new head of hair. This is the first time I've got my hair cut.

00:42:53 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 2:

He went to the barber, and every time he comes to the barber, it seems like he gets a new head of hair. It looks so good.

00:42:59 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it. Barbershop was wild yesterday.

00:43:02 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 2:

Whenever he goes to the barbershop, too, he always comes up with a topic. You got a topic out of the barbershop yesterday?

00:43:06 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 3:

The topic for today is, has anyone's children ever prevented you from dating them or moving forward with them? Prevented? Prevented.

00:43:14 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean, like, prevented because?

00:43:16 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 3:

Because the kid was bad as hell. Oh. I'm in a barber shop yesterday, and when I walk in, there's a woman that's getting her hair done across from me. And it looks like she's finishing up. Wait, a woman goes to a barber shop? Well, it's like a beauty salon slash barber shop. Okay. Remember the lady who I let cut my hair? She does. She does.

00:43:34 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 2:

She does women. Yeah. Okay. I like that.

00:43:37 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, so she's finishing up a young lady across from her. And the barbershop is a little quieter than, like, what I'm normally accustomed to when I come in there. It's a lot of chatter, music. Everybody kind of look focused. And when I get in my chair, I realize it's because this lady kid is the kid from hell. He's like a little demon baby. He's running around. He's yelling. He's screaming. And it's almost to the point where she's kind of telling him to calm down. but it's almost like it's normal behavior the way that she's responding to it. He's not near her. He comes over to where we are. He's touching stuff. People kind of looking annoyed. And it's like when she leaves finally with her kid, everybody's like a breath of fresh air. Like, ugh. That kid's gone. Like, she's got to be single. There's no way I could ever date her. And that became the conversation. Like, how have kids ruined your potential relationship?

00:44:26 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

That's actually very interesting. And we've got a lot of single moms that listen to this radio show. We are, I don't know if you know this, Nielsen rated number one for single moms, believe it or not. Where's that t-shirt? No, I don't even think they have that as a category. They should have that as a category. If they don't, Nielsen come up with something like that, because I'm sure we would be number one for single moms. But a lot of single moms, and I wonder if that's the case. I wonder if your kid is to a point where your kid prevents you from having relationships because of something that your kid either does.

00:45:00 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

does or you know well just think about dating kev i mean you're you're not necessarily dating but you you know you you will eventually if you met somebody who was perfect but she had the kid or kids from hell that's gonna affect whether you want to move forward in that relationship or not

00:45:17 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 3:

it's a package deal especially if you're getting serious with that person see i gotta tell you i

00:45:21 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 2:

think his kid would get him laid i mean i know i'm just i'm blessed man he's old enough just Josiah is one of those kids where he's so damn smart and so fun. You could use him as your in to get a girl to come talk to you because the kid's got game. I should just be quiet. Let him talk. Yeah. Go walk up to her and tell her, you should date my daddy. I wanted, like, what was the kid from Big Daddy?

00:45:46 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I just watched part of that movie. That's such a great movie. I love that movie.

00:45:51 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That would be perfect. Scooby Steve, damn you. You date my dad. Hold on. Daryl's on with us right now. Daryl, this is Cavs Barber. Was that kid that bad, Daryl?

00:46:02 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 4:

Man, that kid is terrible, man. Really? Yeah, that kid hit me one time, and I was like, oh, man. Oh, really? Yeah, that kid just ran through the shop, man. I was cutting his hair one time, and he turned around. He was playing with his little iPad or whatever, And I guess it lost to something. And I was cutting his hair. He turned around. I was like, hey, and hit me. I'm like, whoa, what's going on, man? Took me like forever to cut his hair.

00:46:32 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 2:

Is the mom apologetic the whole time? Or how is the mom dealing with it?

00:46:37 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she always is. But she never do nothing. Like, kids, she never do nothing. They just be like, hey, stop it. And it's like, hey, get your kid. Yeah. Like, what is going on? Yeah, I can't do it, man. I couldn't do it.

00:46:51 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 3:

You know how it takes a village? can you discipline other people's kids if they're in your business maybe right okay take the scissors

00:46:59 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 2:

and threaten them with the scissors yeah see what they do um i we have friend a friend who has uh she's single and she has a son that has some severe autism and uh it's tough for her because i think that she realizes how much work goes into being a mom for her and so and i always feel really bad but i always think that if i'm a guy and i really like a person you know i'll deal with their kid you know what i mean i'll figure that out but some of these guys that are out there man

00:47:32 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 3:

they don't deal with this i mean how do you how do you get to that point though right of actually really liking the person before you realize that this child this child is a barrier well i would

00:47:41 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 2:

think that you wouldn't bring the kid around in the beginning. For any parent, you shouldn't even

00:47:47 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 1:

introduce. Even if the kid or kids are good.

00:47:49 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because you don't want to introduce them to a whole bunch of people. That's facts. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Has a kid ever kept you from dating, whether it be your kid or somebody else's kid? Daryl, you are a single man, aren't you? Yep. Yeah, do you... Have you ever found yourself liking a lady, but not liking her kid?

00:48:14 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, so I had this one time, right? I went to the strip club, met this young lady. She was working hard. And during, you know, I decided to take her on a date, you know. You asked to strip her out? That's a boss move. When we went to her office, you know, if I may will, and had a consultation. I decided that I kind of liked her a little bit. So I'm like, let's go take this show on the road. Okay. So, and we went to, I went to her house to pick her up, right? And she had like a kid, a kid was like three or four years old. And he had his boots on. And he just kept kicking me like in the front of my lips. And it's like, I don't care how little a kid is. You know, like that little shin bone right in the front. Oh, that hurts so bad. Yeah, so he had, like, this little Hulk toy, and she didn't see it, but I took his toy, and I tucked it in the couch, so when he got to going crazy, she came on, and she was like, hey, you stopping, you stopping, and she grabbed him and made him go to sleep and everything.

00:49:23 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 2:

And now he can't find his Hulk toy. Hey, wait, wait, wait, real quick. You said you met this girl at a strip club. She took you to her office? Time to dance, time to dance.

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Is that what it is? They said he got a consultation.

00:49:41 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Was it $25 to visit that office? What was the call?

00:49:44 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 4:

It was a little bit of maturity involved. She has to get a lot of shooting, killing, going. I'm a feature to tip your wages. It's him for respect.

00:49:52 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 3:

For the one-on-one consultation.

00:49:54 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Yeah, just for consultation.

00:49:56 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Nice, nice hardworking woman. Nice hardworking woman.

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 4:

I love when Daryl calls in and tells me.

00:50:02 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 2:

I do like that, too.

00:50:03 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 4:

You're my favorite, Daryl. I hope Kevin doesn't cheat on you anymore.

00:50:06 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, right, exactly. Mike, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:50:11 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what's up, guys? How's it going? So my girlfriend that I dated in high school, her little brother was a little jerk. I was getting in the car one time, and he slammed my head in the car door. Oh, my gosh. And I ended up marrying the girl and having a kid with her, and she's awesome. I'm a single dad now, but this kid's like 15 now, and when I see him, I'm like, man, I should sock you once. For old times. That's funny. You know what's funny, Mike?

00:50:43 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 2:

I can relate to you, Mike. Chelsea had a little brother, Josh, that we used to have to go out on dates with, and she would have to lie to him because her dad didn't want her dating me, so she would have to lie to him about who I was. So she would like come up with different names and she would, they would, we kept telling him that my white Jeep that I had was not a Jeep. It was a Honda Accord. So that her dad would say, what kind of car were you guys in? Still to this day, the kid can't tell a Jeep from a Honda Accord. What's up, Lucy? How you doing?

00:51:14 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

00:51:15 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:51:17 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Not much. So I was telling Lydia that I actually have a daughter with Down syndrome, and that, like, prevented me to date for such a long time. Like, you know, there's so many people out there that, like, at first, I wouldn't really come out and say it, and then they would find out and, like, go with me. But then I started being dishonest, right? Like, one of the first things off the, off-riff, this is, you know, what I have at home. And I don't blame them, right? like nobody wants to you know if you can't handle it you can't handle it see that that's sad that's

00:51:53 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 2:

that's so sad to me because of i mean i'm i know that your your daughter is your number one right that's that's your number one and if somebody's not going to take your daughter and make that child their number one you know what i mean why would you want them in their life and can i tell

00:52:08 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 5:

you something how can you not love those kids down syndrome kids are the most one most loving kids

00:52:14 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:52:15 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 3:

The best. And adults. Yeah, she's amazing. I mean, I'm happily engaged now.

00:52:20 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 2:

Excellent. Beautiful.

00:52:22 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we found the love of my life. So he accepts her, loves her as his own, and she loves him too. I love it. But yeah, there's a lot of things. It's tough. She does come with a little bit of attitude.

00:52:36 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow, it's funny. I've never seen a Down syndrome person that seemed like they ever were angry or had attitude. They always seem so happy. Thank you for the call, Lucy. I'm happy for you. Thank you for sharing that with us. Now back to Daryl the barber and his. By the way, how many girls have you ever picked up at strip clubs?

00:52:59 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 4:

Quite a few. You know, I like the consistency in the character. The consistency in the character. Yeah, you know, they're very giving. You know, they take very good care of you. I recommend they're potentially white material. Really? Think about it. Wow. Think about it. They serve you. They bring you food. If you go long enough, they even know you drink, right?

00:53:32 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 2:

Daryl, you're digging a hole. You are digging a hole.

00:53:35 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 4:

I'm just there. They know how to talk to you. I mean, they soft-walking, and you get a bang for your buck. You know, a lot of people, you know, when you date women that's not strippers, right? Yeah. You spend your money on getting, you know, taking care of them, and you get a lot of bad feedback.

00:53:52 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:53:52 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 4:

But strippers, every time, the more you pay, the more they treat you nice. And I like that.

00:53:57 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 3:

And I like that.

00:53:59 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Daryl's got it going on. Hold on.

00:54:01 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't dance, and if you pay me, I'll treat you nice.

00:54:04 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 2:

Initial S is a single mom, and you say you can relate to this? What's going on? You're voice disguised.

00:54:14 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Yeah, I was just listening, and it was really hard to be a single mom and date. I've been dating someone for a little over a year and a half, and I get my kids every other week, and it takes a couple days for the kids to adjust to being around a new person and then things kind of like relax, but you have to be respectful to the parent, the other parent.

00:54:44 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:54:46 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 1:

And you're trying to co-parent all the time to be respectful for the other parent.

00:54:51 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 2:

So wait, so are you saying single moms usually date single dads and that makes for the best relationship? or it's harder?

00:54:58 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

In my case,

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm dating someone that doesn't have kids.

00:55:02 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:55:03 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 3:

It's hard to date me because you only see me every other week.

00:55:09 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah. That's where it does. Megan likes that. Megan actually lies and says that she's got no cut. Quick question for you. Would you like to be introduced to Daryl the Barber?

00:55:24 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm good. I'm good.

00:55:25 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 1:

No offense, Daryl, but she says that she's good on this one here, okay?

00:55:32 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 3:

My kids will always come first.

00:55:33 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hold on. I've got to make sure you're unvoiced this guy, Daryl. Say that again. What did you say?

00:55:39 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 3:

My kids will always come first. Good. So it's going to, you know, always be tricky to be, but, you know.

00:55:46 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 1:

And that's the way you should always keep it, right?

00:55:49 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, absolutely.

00:55:51 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. And as Megan would say, F them.

00:55:55 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, kids come last. Kids come last. It's me, the dog, really, my car oil changes, and the kids.

00:56:02 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Maybe you and Daryl do need to be in a relationship together. Right, Daryl? Daryl, would you like to be in a relationship?

00:56:06 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's right. Hey. Yeah, meet me at the street club, meet me. You pay me, and I'll teach you real nice. Maybe he didn't call his wife to check in while on your date, but something isn't right. Second date update is after 8 this morning on Mojo in the Morning.

00:56:53 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 1:

Shannon with What's Trending this morning in the Dirty on the 30s, Shannon.

00:56:57 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 4:

Sydney Sweeney is fueling breakup rumors with her fiancé, Jonathan DeVino. They've already postponed their wedding that was supposed to happen in May. So that was clue number one. And now we're hearing that Sydney has been staying at the very fancy Beverly Hills Hotel for the past couple of weeks without Johnny Boy by herself. Some girlfriends are kind of filtering in and out. They were last seen together in January in New York City. And I go back to Glenn Powell being the cause of this. I still think she had something going on with Glenn Powell when they were in that movie together. Can't remember the name of the movie. It was cute, but I remember it was Glenn Powell.

00:57:37 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 1:

Anyone but you.

00:57:38 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Have you seen it?

00:57:39 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:57:40 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 4:

It's fine. Okay. I'm going to go on. Well, you just came up with it very quickly. President Trump shopped for a new Tesla on the White House driveway yesterday to show his support for his buddy Elon Musk. He got to pick from the five that Tesla brought over.

00:57:57 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 2:

I just wanted to make a statement. I'm going to buy one. Now, here's the bad news. I'm not allowed to drive because I haven't driven a car in a long time and I love to drive cars, but I'm going to have it at the White House and I'm going to let my staff use it. I'm going to let people at the place use it. And they're all excited about that.

00:58:16 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 4:

I think he ended up picking a red sedan, if I'm not mistaken. But said he was going to write a check for the car, which retails for about $80,000.

00:58:24 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 2:

President Trump wrote the art of the deal. Is there any kind of room for negotiating here? Let me answer that. I know he'll give me a discount, but honestly, I don't want to ask for one. I'm president, and so I want to pay full.

00:58:35 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 1:

Is he doing this because of the people that are out protesting him?

00:58:39 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Well, he can't drive. Well, and Tesla, I think he's hoping to show his support for Tesla, who is currently struggling with sales and declining stock prices.

00:58:50 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 1:

What a commercial. It was actually interesting. Yesterday, the press came down on him for doing this, saying, why are you doing this? Why are you buying an electric car and all this stuff like that? They thought that what he was doing was bad. And then they released videos of President Biden. And remember when he came to Detroit and he was driving all of the electric vehicles in Detroit and driving around? And then they were trying to say that he's not buying an American car, which then Tesla then released that they make their cars in America and stuff. It's going to be interesting. I'll tell you what. I talked to some of the car people about these tariffs and everybody's freaked out. All the car dealers are freaked out about this. But then I saw that Sean Fain guy, the guy that runs the UAW, he's the head of the UAW, actually supportive of Trump's tariffs, which I was surprised by. But I guess it's because he wants to bring these jobs back to the United States. Right. Because I thought he hated Trump. And then I saw him actually saying I actually am supportive of this.

00:59:48 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 4:

A hat has been pulled from the Texas Rangers and MLB online stores after it was discovered that a mashup of the team's hat and jersey logos created the...

01:00:00 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 5:

The appearance of a swear word in Spanish. Now, I don't know Spanish, but the hat is part of New Era's overlap 5950 collection. And it has the Rangers block T that normally appears on the team's cap, superimposed over the middle X in the block Texas logo that usually appears in the front of the Rangers jerseys. And by doing so, that mashup of the logos created a visual of apparently a pretty vulgar Spanish word that's used for women's breasts.

01:00:30 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? The T word.

01:00:31 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 5:

I'm not going to say the word. Well, it didn't vanish. I know, but still.

01:00:35 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 4:

You can say that.

01:00:36 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 5:

You are obsessed with t***.

01:00:38 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:00:39 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 5:

Really? You can't say it. Why do you always?

01:00:42 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 4:

He said it like a week ago. Ta-ta's? Is it ta-ta's? Yeah, but you said it with the I.

01:00:46 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, this is a slang word for boobs.

01:00:48 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, is it? Did you see the Astros?

01:00:50 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 5:

A vulgar slang word.

01:00:51 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 4:

The Houston Astros version of this hat actually has the big A, or it has the A-S, and then a huge H for Houston and then O-S, so it looks like it's ass hoes. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I actually like the Astros one. Oh, I think they're all super ugly. They are ugly. I think they're all the worst design hats. What does ours look like? A little bit of diversity might have prevented this. You think so? It'll get you every time. Yeah. Do you guys... Imagine having one person that spoke Spanish to be like, not fam. In Texas of all states. Right. Right. Do you think, though, that they did it on purpose to get some preface? I think they did.

01:01:33 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:01:33 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 4:

I really do. You think so? Oh, absolutely.

01:01:35 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 5:

They had to pull him, so they didn't make any money out of it.

01:01:37 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, but they got a bunch of press out of the deal. True. I mean, we're talking about it. Some people would buy the hat just because, though. Oh, yeah, absolutely. I bet you they will get rid of them, and they'll say that they're going to destroy them. They probably are selling them somewhere right now. You're on eBay. Some marketplace. Some marketplace, yeah.

01:01:53 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 5:

Camila Cabello is now dating a billionaire. She and her new boyfriend, a Lebanese businessman named Henry Jr. Shalhoub, spotted together at a Paris Fashion Week fashion show yesterday. I think they've been together for a couple of months now, but making it very public at this point. Sorry, I'm trying to pull up a picture. Oh, he cute. He cute. Are you rich? All right, go get it.

01:02:16 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 4:

Is he cute or is he cute because he's rich?

01:02:18 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 5:

No, he's actually cute. Damn, I hate when people are attractive and rich. You get one or the other. And an update on that Pitt student that is still missing in Punta Cana after traveling there for spring break.

01:02:33 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 3:

Right next to college students on spring break, the Dominican Republic's armed forces joined search teams looking for missing 20-year-old American Sadiqsa Kananke. New surveillance video shows the final moments before her disappearance shortly after 4.15 a.m. last Thursday morning. The University of Pittsburgh student is seen walking to the beach with friends. A young man she's with appears to take a selfie with her. According to Dominican news outlet Noticia Sin, the other friends return to the hotel by 5.05 a.m. But the young man seen with Kananki doesn't leave the beach until 8.52 a.m. She's not reported missing until 4 p.m. later that day. Local media reports the young man told police they went swimming and big waves forced him out of the water. before he threw up and passed out.

01:03:21 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 2:

His story has changed several times, which concerns me, and I think that's why law enforcement is targeting in on him again and asking witnesses and people that are with him. So there's a whole lot of information that has not been found yet.

01:03:35 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 3:

Dominican police are now re-interviewing witnesses to corroborate information, while Kananki's family and friends are in Punta Cana,

01:03:42 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 1:

urging investigators to be thorough. police was really helping us a lot searching for the girl in the ocean they have sent helicopters they have sent drones they have sent boats to find whether the girl is there and today morning they helped us to do the scuba diving as well they couldn't find her in the water the Rio Republica

01:04:09 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 3:

A hotel where Kananki stayed leading up to her disappearance confirms today that it suffered a power outage in the crucial 24 hours leading up to her disappearance. It wasn't fully resolved until early Thursday morning when she was last seen.

01:04:24 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 4:

I think that there's a couple of things that they need to look at.

01:04:26 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 5:

There are so many hairs in the butter here.

01:04:27 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 4:

So you got this kid who says that they went to the beach together with this, you know, he went to this girl. A wave knocked her into the water. He passed out. But then he gets up and goes back to his room and doesn't call for authorities. to help and find out where this girl is and they took till 4 o'clock that night for them to realize that she was missing. Why were her friends not wondering where the hell she was before 4 o'clock?

01:04:49 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 5:

And even he, so he threw up, fell asleep on a beach chair, then got up and walked back to his hotel room.

01:04:56 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 4:

At 10 o'clock in the morning, right?

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

But you're going, she's nowhere to be.

01:05:00 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't call for help. I'm telling you, there's something shady. That guy is definitely a suspect. And I think her friends, you know, she went down with four or five other girls from Pitt. Why the hell did it take them until four o'clock in the afternoon to go, where's our friend at?

01:05:17 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 3:

Because I'm guessing everybody thought she was with somebody else. And I'm not saying that this isn't sketchy. But just before we point fingers, did he think, oh, I woke up. We were really drunk last night. Maybe she went back to the room. And all of her girlfriends were like, she probably went back to his place, stayed the night there. I understand that.

01:05:34 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you. However, there comes a point in the day when it's like, nobody's heard from her. I think it took too long, for sure.

01:05:41 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 3:

But I understand why it wasn't super fast, either. There should have been a middle ground.

01:05:46 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 4:

All right, Stephanie is on with us right now. Hello, Stephanie.

01:06:06 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 1:

Hi, oh my God, hi.

01:06:08 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie, you know this music, don't you?

01:06:11 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, did I just win the Disney chance to qualify?

01:06:16 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes, you did. You're a winner. Congratulations to you. Stephanie, we got a $50 Disney gift card for you. And on Friday morning, we could be announcing Stephanie from, it says here, Waterford, where you will be taking your kids to Disney. Let's hope it's on Friday morning that we talk to you again, okay?

01:06:37 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes. Thank you so much.

01:06:39 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 2:

You're so welcome. Who are your children? How old are they?

01:06:44 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Aubrey, she's seven. Charlotte, she's four. And then I have a two-year-old named Eliza. Oh, my God. This is perfect.

01:06:50 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 4:

Perfect ages.

01:06:52 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Family vacation for four to Disney World. We're giving you a chance to win all this week. Listen again tomorrow morning for another shot. Congratulations to you.

01:07:00 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

01:07:02 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Man, just to be able to do that for your family and not have to worry about paying for it. It's such an expensive time to fly right now. It's an expensive place to go to right now. Disney Vacation is available for you by listening to Mojo in the Morning. Make sure you're listening weekday mornings, 7.30 on Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. I thought this was kind of interesting. I went out with some friends, and we were hanging out, and while we were out with friends, one of the friends got a text message from their attorney that their divorce was official. So we're hanging out together, and we're all just standing there or sitting there at dinner, and we're hanging out. All of a sudden, oh, my God. My divorce is official. You know, my ex-wife are now signing the paperwork.

01:07:59 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Was it good news or was it sad news?

01:08:01 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, everybody then ordered a drink and we raised a glass. And I was like, oh, we're celebrating. We're raising a glass. And then I started feeling kind of weird because I thought to myself, do you raise a glass on something like that? Is that something to celebrate? Do you celebrate?

01:08:17 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 3:

Something they can never take away.

01:08:19 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Right. What movie is that from? It's from Hamilton. Is it? oh it's from hamilton sorry but it wasn't about a divorce so it wasn't like uh no it was about

01:08:28 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 3:

the revolution who knew same thing but is it some people say a war i felt weird after after i'm

01:08:35 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

drinking this drink i'm going okay but is that so i wanted to ask this question i wanted to ask the listeners what did you do the moment that you found out that your divorce was finalized the moment you found out did you celebrate did you cry did you get depressed like what was what was

01:08:53 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 4:

your reaction to that what did you do when it was during the show when um my ex-husband had texted me and like we knew that it was like final final and um because we did everything out of court but like you know it was weird i just felt like numb yeah it was during the show so i don't think i

01:09:12 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 1:

cried or anything i just felt weird like strange was it a feeling of like obviously going through the process you know this is what's happening yeah but that moment of finalization feels very

01:09:24 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 2:

very very final it really does yeah so it makes it feel like oh god what the hell just happened

01:09:30 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 4:

kind of thing huh it's almost surreal is it at least that's how i felt yeah because it's weird

01:09:35 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 2:

i will say this to you when you get married and after you get married i know this is going to sound bad to say this I kind of felt numb afterwards like it wasn't that I was not happy that I got married but I was like oh my god I feel like I got a sense of responsibility right now

01:09:50 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 1:

what do you think was a stronger emotion the feeling of getting married or getting divorced

01:09:54 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

that's a really good question um I don't know

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 2:

Probably getting divorced.

01:10:01 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 1:

Did you live with your ex-husband before you guys got married?

01:10:05 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 2:

Technically, no. No, but you were staying all the time together.

01:10:09 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 1:

I feel like marriage is less of a change than divorce is nowadays. So many people have kids or live together or whatever it is that it's not as big of a change.

01:10:19 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 2:

And we actually still lived together for a little while until his house was ready after it was finalized, finalized. But there was still that feeling of a shift.

01:10:30 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it's determined based on the reasons why you're getting divorced. Like, if it was hell and you're ready to get out, then maybe it is, like, toasted up. But if you don't really want to separate, then maybe it's hard.

01:10:41 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 4:

And in this case, for him, it was a process. So it was a little bit of a process. What's going on, Glenda? You there?

01:10:47 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 8:

I am here.

01:10:48 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

01:10:49 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 8:

This is a long time, all time. Oh, that's cool. Glenda's all time, all time. Call in the rafters. Hey, what's going on?

01:11:01 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 4:

Nothing much. We're talking about, like, what did you do when you found out that you were officially divorced? What did you do?

01:11:06 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 8:

Of course, got the gavel, you know. They said, you're done. Cool. That was in the same building where you get your marriage license to go get married again. So I had my future husband on a different floor. What?

01:11:20 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You did not sink the elevator.

01:11:24 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 5:

This is the call of all calls.

01:11:26 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. We're starting it off. So, wait, you officially got divorced, it was finalized, and then you guys went and got married?

01:11:36 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 8:

We went down and applied for our marriage license at the same time to get married. And I got married like, oh, let's see, that was August 15th. I got married August 24th.

01:11:47 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you, this is like purchasing a gun. There should be a waiting period. You should not be allowed to all of a sudden do that.

01:11:54 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, sometimes these divorces take years.

01:11:57 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 4:

And wait, question for you. Are you still married to the second guy?

01:12:01 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 8:

Absolutely not. Oh, no. So I say my conclusion to this is raise that glass.

01:12:09 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Raise that glass and celebrate. Don't go to the courthouse and go get yourself a new marriage license.

01:12:16 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 8:

Absolutely. Words of wisdom.

01:12:18 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, thank you, Glenda. It was so nice to talk to you. That was a great call. Devlin, what's going on? Hey, how you doing? We're good. What did you do the moment you found out? Oh, man, I partied. Matter of fact, I went to a strip bar.

01:12:33 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 6:

I had a great time. Did you really? Yeah, it was like just went to a strip bar. I mean, it was like depression was like if you think about a final exam that you've been going through and you just got rid of the test and it was over, it was like depression was just so gone. It was an amazing feeling.

01:12:51 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Please tell me, though, that when you went to the strip club, you at least had buddies there with you. Because if you went by yourself, that is freaking lonely to go by yourself.

01:13:00 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 6:

No, see, you don't understand me. I enjoy myself. Oh, come on now. This is weird. Come on. I have no witnesses. Nobody can have horror stories. No pictures. No reminders.

01:13:13 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 4:

Did you tell the strippers the story of, like, why you were there?

01:13:18 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, and it's even better. You got to have a pity story, you know? So, I mean, you know. They must hear that a lot, though. She was terrible. She did this to me. Oh, my God. Really? I'm going to give you a discount.

01:13:30 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 4:

Look at me. Oh, my God. What is happening to us this morning? Megan, what did you do? Did you have a party? Did you raise that glass? Mary?

01:13:48 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 9:

I had the best party ever. My friends threw me an amazing party. I wore my wedding dress. We threw down, and I have been celebrating every single day since.

01:13:59 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's cool. Never been happy. All right, good. So was he that bad?

01:14:03 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 9:

Oh, God. You want me to tell? We could talk for days.

01:14:07 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 4:

It wasn't that last guy we talked to. Is that right? No, it wasn't him. It wasn't Devlin there that we just had out of here with us a second ago.

01:14:16 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 9:

No, it wasn't Devlin. But, boy, I can tell you stories. Oh, so happy. Every day. I could celebrate every single day, I swear.

01:14:23 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

01:14:24 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 9:

I know that's sad to say. You know, I didn't go into marriage thinking that I would ever celebrate a divorce, but man, oof, I got the bullet.

01:14:31 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. Well, thank you for the call. Ana, this was actually your parents that got divorced. Do you remember what they did?

01:14:39 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so me and my sister, after we found out their divorce was finalized, we've been waiting for years. And once we found out, we got them cakes that said happy divorce.

01:14:50 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 4:

Wow. So you celebrated with them because their marriage was so volatile, huh?

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it wasn't great, but we were just happy that.

01:15:00 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 3:

was over with. That's tough. You think about this. With kids, how old were you at the time?

01:15:05 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 1:

I had just graduated high school. I was probably 20.

01:15:08 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, yeah. You graduated high school at 20?

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 1:

Hey. Yeah.

01:15:11 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 3:

She said just graduated. I didn't have to point out stuff like that. No, she didn't just graduated. That was shocking. By the way, that is the number one time that people are getting divorced right now is when their kids just graduated from high school and they move on to college. You heard Joe on our show when he he got proposed he said that he always thought that chelsea and i were going to do that when luke went away to college uh shannon what's up hi shannon what is up hey how

01:15:40 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 6:

you doing we're good what did you say shannon what's going on not much um i just got to tell you that when i got my divorce i partied like a rock star okay oh my goodness okay so i went and got a bunch of the um plastic handcuffs from like party city or something and i had them open um and put them on all my tables at the club representing freedom i had a cake that said happy divorce day shannon and i had a pair of open handcuffs um had to put a pair of that on the cake um and then i had uh you know you have the cake topper of the husband with the groom and the bride, let's see each other smiling. I had that, and I cut the head off the groom, and I had it lying at the bottom of her feet, so she's staring up at nothing, smiling. No bad blood there.

01:16:38 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 3:

Sounds like I have. Can you imagine being the person that made that cake? The baker?

01:16:43 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, trust me. I had done it Kroger. The Kroger and Greenfield.

01:16:48 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 3:

The baker in Kroger there. Hey, real quick, Shannon.

01:16:52 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 6:

When I went to go pick the cake up, all the employees were like, is that her? Is that her? Oh, that's so good. That cake. It was sweet. I'm telling you, it was sweet. And I had an autographed dog. I think it said congratulations and something, but I crossed it off and put divorce on there. And I had everybody sign it, and everybody was buying champagne all night. Oh, my God. I was so messed up. I party. I had such a great time.

01:17:22 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, do they have a section, like an aisle at Kroger, or not Kroger, but actually maybe Kroger too, or Party City for divorces?

01:17:31 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 6:

R.I.P. Party City. I don't think so. They should, though. They should. They would still be in business if they did.

01:17:38 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 3:

Sarah, what did you do right after you got divorced?

01:17:42 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 5:

My marriage was really lacking in the bedroom as the wedding and the marriage fizzled out. And so as soon as I was divorced, the first thing I did was go make cookies with somebody new just to make sure I still had it. Yeah, baby.

01:17:55 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

01:17:56 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

01:17:58 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 3:

Did you know at least the person that you were baking cookies with right after your divorce?

01:18:03 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I did. I did. And they reassured me I'm a great baker still.

01:18:06 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 3:

They reassured me. All right. All these calls, by the way, are pretty amazing, aren't they? So I guess raising the glass wasn't so bad yesterday. Look at this one. Megan, what did your mom do? after she got divorced?

01:18:21 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 1:

When she signed divorce papers, I was 16, and she took me to get my belly button pierced. And then after it was finalized, she was never allowed to get her itty-bitties done, and she sold her wedding ring and got her boob job. Wow.

01:18:36 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

Did she really? I love it. So Dad was totally against it, so she ended up going to get him, huh? That's awesome.

01:18:44 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 2:

They look like 36 Ds to me.

01:18:47 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, thank you for the call.

01:18:50 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:18:50 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 3:

I like it. All right. Oh, my God. What is that noise?

01:18:55 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 6:

They're putting in new lights in our building.

01:19:00 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 3:

I swear to God, every time that thing happens, I think that's something.

01:19:04 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 2:

Somebody farted. It sounds like a big fart.

01:19:05 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm thinking like somebody's beefing in the studio here. All right. It's Mojo in the morning.

01:19:10 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 2:

01:22:11 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm about to check the bus schedule this morning for the bus I'm about to be thrown under. Got it.

01:22:16 - 01:22:16 | Unknown:

All right.

01:22:17 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. This bus is coming around a couple times, sir.

01:22:19 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 3:

All right. Cool. No.

01:22:21 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:22:21 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 3:

Man, it's been 24 hours. Can I tell the back story on this topic?

01:22:25 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Go ahead. All right. So I took Zach to lunch, okay? We went to lunch, and we were sitting there at lunch, and we were just having conversation, general conversation. And Zach talks about everything that goes on. because first off, this guy right here is the greatest guy to take to lunch because I can just sit there and eat and let him talk the entire time. It's the greatest. That never happens. And we were talking about how things are going, and he was going on talking about how much fun he's had lately, and one of his most fun things was he went to that Red Wings game in Columbus, the outdoor game in Columbus.

01:22:58 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 3:

We had such a good time.

01:22:59 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 1:

Had a great time. He loved it. So he's telling the story about it, and I said to him, I go, i go zach what was so what was it like what was going on he went through the whole thing and then he slightly threw in a comment that i thought was pretty funny about when megan is in ohio

01:23:16 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 2:

she becomes the ohio tourism director i okay so i never there was a good period of time where i was silent during that car ride how how good of a period of time maybe an hour and a half Damn. And, you know, on the way to Columbus, there was a great time where Megan was like, oh, this is where this is. This hospital is actually an insane asylum. Like, this is what's going on. This is where my best friend lives. This is where I was born. I'm like, oh, this is badass. Sweet. Did not expect it on the way back home to Michigan, too. I was like, oh, I'm getting the full tour. Okay.

01:23:58 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 3:

So, just so I'm clear. out of everything wrong in the world in today's day the hill that we are choosing to die on is the being proud of toledo park got it all right this is the hill i will fight to the death

01:24:12 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 1:

on let's go bitch all right so so when you were driving there and you got the tour of town of

01:24:20 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 3:

you know where megan was born because you went to my house yes yeah first time ever and then

01:24:25 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 1:

you know the different places would she show you like the uh her first grade school like all that like what did she show you literally yes

01:24:32 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 3:

to be fair my first school was about a hundred yards from my house and then it's very close we used to walk to school and so you're driving there you're driving because

01:24:46 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 1:

it's four-hour drive right between here and columbus you get to columbus you're there everything's good you're on the way home you're thinking this is all over with yes and the tour continued

01:24:56 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

I swear to god dude they did not they didn't stop

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Did you take a different route or something on the way back?

01:25:02 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 4:

So I don't know. No, we didn't.

01:25:04 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 1:

You did. Okay, so. That makes sense. Was that on purpose, Megan? Was that on purpose?

01:25:08 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 4:

No, there's a lot of construction going on right now. Yeah.

01:25:11 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

That makes sense.

01:25:11 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 4:

There's a whole intersection. Essentially, if you're trying to get one direction on 75, you have to go like all the way out to Waterville and turn back around and loop through. So yes, there's two different ways. We went to Columbus one way and came back another.

01:25:25 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 1:

So Zach was telling this story. And one thing I have noticed with Megan, anytime we get a Toledo listener that calls in, shout out to everybody who listens to us on KISS, number one, number one.

01:25:37 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 4:

You have to long if you keep treating them like this.

01:25:39 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 1:

No, no. They're not going to want you there. I'm not treating them. I'm treating you.

01:25:42 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 4:

Y'all are prepping that. I'm proud of Toledo. All right.

01:25:45 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

They'll call up and they'll tell Megan, hey, hey, Matt. Yeah, hi, Megan. How you doing? I'm calling from, you know, wherever. I'm calling from Sylvania. Sylvania. And Megan will go, are you by the McDonald's over on the...

01:26:03 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 4:

You say that, but literally last segment, Kev did the same thing. What'd I do? You did. We were talking about Kroger, and you're like, oh, the one right next to the... Oh, yeah. To the outlet. Just so I'm clear. It's okay when y'all do it about Detroit, but when I do it about Toledo, not okay.

01:26:21 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 1:

It is...

01:26:21 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 4:

Wait, no. Justify it. Justify it.

01:26:24 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 1:

No. Well, then all you guys are wrong because you guys have to, you guys are very proud of the places that you are, but sometimes.

01:26:32 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 4:

Are you not proud of Chicago? Mr. Chicago is sometimes. You know what is great about Toledo? I don't have to refinance my life to afford to live there.

01:26:41 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Chicago, are you talking about the Windy City? The home of the Chicago Cubs? The place where, where, I don't know enough about it.

01:26:55 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 2:

There are two songs that I have no idea. I hate it. There are two?

01:26:58 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 4:

You could do like Lovers from Ohio or a 21 Pilot song.

01:27:03 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is not Ohio. What part of Ohio? I literally know. New Cleveland Rocks.

01:27:13 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's all good. Okay, but here's the thing.

01:27:15 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 1:

This song's about Ohio.

01:27:16 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 4:

There are two people that hate Toledo.

01:27:19 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 2:

And I will, this is truly true. Oh, Ohio. Oh, I hate it. If you want us to make a good point, let's drown her out.

01:27:44 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 1:

As you were saying, you were born where?

01:27:46 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 4:

There are two people. There are two kinds of people that hate on Toledo. Truly, this is a hill I will die on. Number one, people that never go there.

01:27:52 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

and number two people who have never left there but it wasn't it wasn't toledo it was the whole

01:27:58 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 4:

state right it was a whole state i'll throw fists on this one the whole state is farmland i know this didn't happen for the majority of the drive it's a very populated state and they all live in four cities the rest nothing what's going on jennifer how you doing nothing but fields hey

01:28:16 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 3:

good morning guys good morning i lived in ohio for most of my life i moved to michigan right before high school and i went back to school i went to ut and um i do the same thing when i go back to ohio like this is where i went to school this is where i lived so maybe it's an ohio thing but y'all leave me alone and here's what i love that i did not know was a toledo thing we don't

01:28:38 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 4:

ask where you're from we ask where'd you go to high school that shows you how much we love like where we're from like if you could tell me where you went to high school i know what your favorite restaurant was. I know where you and everybody hung out after the football game. I know everything I need to know about you.

01:28:52 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

What do you know about the people from Notre Dame?

01:28:53 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 4:

I hate Notre Dame. They're my rivals. I went to see the nurse's life.

01:28:58 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Chelsea says that every time we go back to visit my family in Orland Park, Illinois, that I always have to take the kids by my grade school, the church I was baptized in, the hospital I was born in.

01:29:14 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

Every time we go to any suburb of toronto and west is like this is brampton this is the movie theater where jason wildman lost his virginity in the parking lot it's very normal he does virginity too i haven't done virginity

01:29:25 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 1:

by the way can i tell you something though that when zach told this story i said we got it why did we not talk about that after you came back and he goes i don't want to make megan mad i said come on how would that make megan mad that's what i think that's what i find interesting about that comment is he cared and you didn't no i love what i love about him is i love i love the fact that he had a topic and he saved that topic because he was like i don't want to do this thing i go that is the funniest freaking thing ever because it's so true that megan is the she why Why don't you run for governor, there's going to be a governor's race. Megan for governor. Come on. Oh, she said Ohio. Mrs. Miss Huey's on the phone.

01:30:18 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 2:

Megan's former teacher. Oh, I love that you couldn't be like, hey, can we just listen to some music or something? But you let her keep going. We actually didn't have any music. Yeah, we didn't have music.

01:30:29 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 6:

Which is, I think, a very interesting part of this conversation that was left out. We only had dead silence.

01:30:35 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 1:

Your teacher is on the phone. Come on. Applesauce or whatever the heck it is. How do you keep people quiet when you're... One, two, three. Eyes on me. Clap one time if you can hear me. Miss Huey, Megan's former teacher is calling us. What's up?

01:30:49 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, you guys need to leave Megan alone. Thank you. She is so proud of Ohio, and Toledo is amazing.

01:30:58 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. You know what? This is why I love you. This is why I appreciate you and why I talked about you last week, why you're so important. You're a good person. What did you teach, Megan?

01:31:07 - 01:31:07 | Unknown:

What?

01:31:09 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 1:

Were you her geography teacher? You didn't teach her any other places.

01:31:14 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 5:

I only know Ohio. I don't know anywhere else. I'm just kidding. We have the walleye. We have the mudhands. You can get anywhere in Toledo in 20 minutes. We don't have really bad traffic. We have all these amazing metro parks. You can go to like, I don't know, we have like 15 of them or something. And that's just a few of the amazing things about the Toledo area.

01:31:39 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 6:

Here's the best kept secret. And you got to back me up on this one. There is no nightlife like Toledo. And everybody thinks I'm crazy for saying that. But since moving to Detroit, I cannot find a better place to go out and party than I can in downtown Toledo.

01:31:52 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. Wow. They open them up after you moved?

01:31:55 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 6:

And you walk everywhere. Exactly. Exactly. The Dora district is amazing.

01:31:59 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey, quick question for you, Miss Huey. You sound like you're too young to have been Megan's former teacher. How old are you?

01:32:05 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're so sweet. Thank you. I'm 48. Wow. You do sound super young. Yeah, you sound young.

01:32:11 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, hey, listen, Zach will come and read to your class with Megan if you need anything. I don't know how to read. You just read the signs. Read the signs. Welcome to. Thank you, Miss Huey. Take care of yourself. uh what's going on evelyn hi hey how's it going it's going good we're just having fun today what's

01:32:33 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

going on with you so you know a hidden gem of ohio that people us michiganders don't know about is amish country where you can get the best pies the best bread love it the best donuts yeah the best any baked anything you could want do they have a gas station in amish country is there or no of course not they have buggy um stations where they park their buggies and go into the bank and yeah there's uh they drive around where is Amish country compared to where Toledo is yeah like south of Cedar Point okay if you're heading toward Cedar Point you go south of there and um and you know there's also Hocking Hills I like it I've been to Hocking Hills I

01:33:16 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 1:

I want to go to Amish country sometime. I've always wanted that. What's up, Poncho? What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Poncho.

01:33:28 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. First thing, Mojo, is you can't drown Megan out. She's got a beautiful voice.

01:33:33 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love you. Good to you, Poncho. You must be from Ohio, Poncho. I always thought you were from West Michigan.

01:33:38 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 3:

I know. I'm from Grand Rapids.

01:33:39 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 1:

I know. What's going on? What's the story here?

01:33:42 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

And then on top of that, too, Megan's fine with the way she does that, Because I do that with my old concrete that I used to do. I was like, hey, I did that concrete. I did that concrete. I did that concrete.

01:33:53 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you do concrete for a living. So that's interesting. It's so funny. Can I tell you something? With radio, it's like this, too. Whenever you go to another city and you're a person in radio, you always go, oh, this is, you know, this is Nashville. That's the home of, you know, Z94 or something like that.

01:34:10 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 4:

You've got to listen to it in your rental car, Uber.

01:34:13 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

We're going to Dayton, Ohio, home of Kiss, you know, or whatever. It's like you always pick out, like, radio stations and do stuff like that. Never done that. Well, it's because you have only been in radio for a short time. Give it some time. You do sports teams. Hey, we're in Cincinnati. The Bengals play right there. You know, stuff like that. Okay. Yeah, so that's kind of that. We all have it. All right. Megan, you're not mad at Zach, are you?

01:34:35 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely not.

01:34:35 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 1:

Wait till next week when we talk about your driving. You viewed my snap.

01:34:41 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 3:

You read my text. No callback? Second date update is coming up at 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:48 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, we're talking about, you know, your pride for your hometown. The next topic here deals with, can you call your parents too much?

01:35:00 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 3:

going on oh that's me um sorry i just got a text from one of my favorite chicken places got a little distracted was very excited i will be reaching out to you from toledo yes it is shout out to frickers oh you're absolute i love frickers um actually if i'm in toledo you'll probably find me at the downtown location anyways uh is it possible to call your uh parents too much is something that really just slapped me across the face yesterday. Tell me if this is too crazy. I had a two and a half hour long conversation with my dad yesterday.

01:35:37 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 4:

Two and a half hours consistent conversation? Like you were on the phone for two and a half hours?

01:35:40 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Don't you talk to your dad every single day anyway? Every day.

01:35:44 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 4:

Wait, did you guys go to the bathroom at all during that time?

01:35:47 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 3:

No. Do you pee? Okay, maybe you should go get that checked out. Because if you can't make it two and a half hours without having to pee. That's how I would get that checked out.

01:35:56 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 4:

It's going to happen to you, too, someday. Get ready.

01:36:00 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 3:

But I was talking to him at the end. I said, you know, hey, I'm really sorry that I ate up so much of your day. You know, like, I love you so much. Really appreciate your time, yada, yada, yada. And he goes, so much of my day. Man, you ate up every one of my days. You call me every day. And he meant it in a way that was like, it's not a big deal. This is normal for us. But it came off like, stop calling me. And I was just wondering, can you call your parents too much? I felt guilty.

01:36:25 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 4:

I actually got in trouble for telling Joe, and Chelsea was mad at me, why do you call your mom so much? Because he calls his mom every single day.

01:36:34 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that's weird. But she loves that. That's cool.

01:36:36 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 4:

Like, just to check in or, like, have a life? Just to talk to her and tell her how his day's going. That's cool. And I'm like, that's a little, I don't know, that's a little too much. That's kind of cool, though. By the way, Megan, go back to the peeing thing. Guarantee your dad peed with you while you were on the phone. He just muted it. Because there is no way that a man that is your dad's age can go two and a half hours without having to relieve his bladder.

01:36:58 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 3:

And you know what I would say to Scott Mick? You need to go get that checked out. You need to make that doctor's appointment.

01:37:03 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 4:

That's called being over the age of 50. Once you're over the age of 50, you're peeing like a maniac.

01:37:07 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 5:

Do you have to mute the phone? You better. Yes.

01:37:10 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, when you're on the phone with your daughter, maybe not. I don't know. Like, if I'm on the phone with my kids, I pee and poop all the time on the phone. I have no problem. All right. Can you call your parents too much? Let's get back to that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And how often do you call your parents as a child?

01:37:28 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 5:

I feel like parents like when you call.

01:37:31 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You know what I mean?

01:37:32 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Like, you're still connected. I'm the reverse in this situation. My mama called me way too much. But I don't think there's an issue with me calling her.

01:37:40 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Parents love it. Yeah, I talk or text with my dad, I would say, like, maybe every other day. My mom, it depends, like, how often we're chatting. My mom lately, like, does not want to be on the phone. I think she would rather just text, so she doesn't know this, but my sisters and I are playing a game at the moment of who can keep mom on the phone the longest. And Lucy's in on this game, too. She's the current champion. Lucy is. So, but, go ahead.

01:38:08 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 3:

I just looked at my call log. I called my dad five times yesterday.

01:38:11 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Five times. You talked to him for two and a half hours, and then you did four other times.

01:38:15 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, let's see how long the other ones are.

01:38:16 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 2:

See, this makes me feel like I don't call my parents enough, Ben. Every time I call my dad, he will follow it up with a text message that says, like, that was the best part of my day. It always makes me so happy to hear from you. And then I go, I need to call him more.

01:38:30 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 3:

The other call was 26 minutes. One was eight minutes.

01:38:32 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. So if you put the whole day together, how many hours were you on the phone with your dad for the whole day?

01:38:37 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, a lot of them were, like, check-ins throughout the day. And then he and I talked from, like, 6 till, like, 8.30.

01:38:47 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

I want to know how long he sleeps during the night. Does he sleep more than five or six hours? No. Because his majority of his waking time is talking to you.

01:38:54 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

He's just one of those psychotic people that literally thrives on, like, four hours of sleep.

01:38:58 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:38:58 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 3:

He's one of those. I hate him.

01:39:00 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 4:

Brianna, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:39:02 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning. Morning, Brianna.

01:39:05 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 4:

Brianna, can you call your parents too much?

01:39:08 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

No, you can't. Megan, I totally understand. And I call my mom every single day, multiple times a day, even when I live with her. We would have, like, two-hour conversations all the time.

01:39:19 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 4:

You have stuff to talk about? How do you find things to talk about if you live together and you're calling her so much?

01:39:25 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 1:

You know, nothing. Just ask her housework. What you doing?

01:39:27 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I talked to Chels on my way home, my wife on the way home. And I talked to her and I go, hey, we got to get off the phone because when we get home, we're not going to have anything to talk about. There's nothing there.

01:39:39 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's so funny because I remember growing up, my dad being like, I'm not your friend, I'm your dad, right? And that would, like, devastate me as a kid. And now that we're adults, like, he genuinely is one of my best friends. Like, I love my dad. We don't, like, we talk about everything. Everything.

01:39:53 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, what's going on?

01:39:55 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, everybody.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's going on? What's happening? Can you call your parents too much?

01:40:00 - 01:40:08 | Speaker 5:

No, Megan, call your dad. Call your dad. Right now. Right now, every day. Lydia? Every day, call him right now. Oh, my God, let's all say hi to him together.

01:40:11 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 4:

Here's the thing, though, you guys like him more than me, and I can't do that anymore.

01:40:15 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 5:

No, I love you. I don't want to get real morbid, but I've unfortunately had a couple of friends who lost a parent way too young in life. So if I've learned anything from them, even when my mom and I are fighting, even when things aren't good, call them and tell them you love them. Yeah.

01:40:33 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 2:

Have you seen that meme? Like I see it on Instagram every now and again, and it's a screenshot of the iPhone screen and it says either mom or dad on it. And they said that if you still see this on your phone, you are considering yourself one of the luckiest people ever. That's wild. You are 100%. 100%.

01:40:52 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 1:

And I think that's why I probably I think it's so crazy that Megan calls her dad so much and that my son calls his mom so much because I can't. I don't have parents. Feel bad for me. I'm calling Scott Mick now. Would you be upset if I take up all Scott Mick's time and he doesn't take your calls anymore?

01:41:08 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 5:

I'm already down to one parent. Stop stealing it from me. All right? I'm halfway there, Bondu.

01:41:12 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 1:

Heidi, what's going on, Heidi?

01:41:14 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning.

01:41:15 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 1:

Morning.

01:41:16 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 4:

um yeah so my situation is uh my parents right now well my mom and my stepdad they're in their 70s and um i live with them to take care of them uh and unfortunately my mom we're german people right so read write speak german kind of thing um and my mom lost her uh parents my grandparents a couple years ago quite close to each other and every morning she would make sure and call my grandparents at 7.30 every morning and since she had left my grandparents I call her every single morning at 7.30 in the morning. That's sweet that you do that. Even though I live with her.

01:42:00 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 1:

No, that's sweet. What do you do if you're home with her at the time? Do you go in the other room?

01:42:07 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, like I see her in the middle. Well, if I stay at my boyfriend person's house you know what i'm saying if i see a boyfriend person then i call her every morning and make sure that everything's okay and whatever that's before i come back to

01:42:21 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 1:

the home i think that's sweet i think that's really nice that you take that that you know because i'm sure that that had to be really hard no matter how old your parents are when they lose their parent you're still losing your parent that's got to be very very tough uh even at 70 years old uh hold on uh risa risa what's up uh i'm a mom and i've talked to my daughter literally

01:42:46 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 3:

all day long so we both drive to park but when she calls most of the time i'm driving like now and listening to you all i'm like i want to talk to you but i want to listen to mojo

01:42:57 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 1:

wait a second so you chose to call us and tell us that instead of calling your daughter and talking to her she might be listening she listens all the time well erin say hi to her she's she's

01:43:10 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 3:

right now hey and sweet i hope you're listening to mojo we're about to talk about the second date

01:43:15 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

update i love you reese all day long you're great that's sweet that is awesome i like that too i like that the only time that you don't want to call your mom is when your mom is listening to mojo in the morning she wants to hear the war of the roses or second date update all right uh it's

01:43:32 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning it's the second date update on mojo in the morning all right time now for

01:43:38 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 1:

second date update why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date we're gonna find out this morning here page went out on a date with a guy by the name of nathan and now is not getting

01:43:50 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 5:

called back and page how did you guys meet uh we met at a bar okay and you guys went out just once

01:44:00 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 1:

or did you have a couple of times together?

01:44:03 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 5:

No, we just had our first date at a restaurant and it was going really well and we went out for ice cream. It was really nice and it was sweet.

01:44:12 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of cute. And now he's not calling you back? Did you sense anything that happened when you guys were out together that might have gone wrong?

01:44:20 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 5:

Well, no. So I thought it was going well and the only thing that I can think of, maybe I was a little bit too flirty.

01:44:29 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But I don't know. Well, we'll find out. Nathan is on the phone with us right now. Nathan, will you say hello to Paige? Hello.

01:44:42 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:44:44 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 1:

Nathan, Paige was worried that she was just a little too flirty with you. Is there something that is going on right now that's making you not call her? Or is it just a misunderstanding? You're busy and what's happening?

01:44:59 - 01:45:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. There's something going on for sure that kind of made me a little uncomfortable.

01:45:04 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 6:

And what is that?

01:45:07 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. She just wasn't very upfront about something that, I don't know, I kind of think is a big deal.

01:45:14 - 01:45:14 | Speaker 7:

What was it?

01:45:18 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, she's just super secretive about her job. Like, she told me she was a server and wouldn't tell me where she worked or anything like that. So at first it was just kind of weird, but it was like, you know, whatever, we just met. So I didn't think much of it, but anyway, what does she do? Well, well, it's out like my, all right, all right.

01:45:43 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 6:

Sorry, I'm going to, um, what do you do, Paige?

01:45:47 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm, I, I'm a dancer at a place.

01:45:54 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 6:

You don't have to mention the name of the place. You're a dancer?

01:45:59 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Like at a strip club? Yeah. Okay. But it's literally just a job. It makes great money.

01:46:09 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 6:

How did you find out about this, Nathan? Did she tell you this? No.

01:46:16 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

She told me she was a server. Yeah, she told me she was a server at a restaurant. And then some of my friends were at the club she worked at and then sent me pictures of her dancing on the pole.

01:46:28 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 6:

So, really? First off, they should be kicked out for taking a picture instead of a strip club. Secondly, why are you... Oh, you can't pull out phones and take pictures in a strip club.

01:46:38 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 5:

Really? That's not true. No, you cannot take pictures. I've been seeing all the videos in a strip club. You can't. You're not supposed to. You'll get kicked out for it. Oh.

01:46:46 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 6:

Secondly, why would your friends make it that big of a deal? And thirdly, Paige, why are you ashamed of this? Why would you not tell?

01:46:56 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 3:

I just didn't think that was something to mention, maybe on a very first date.

01:47:00 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I get it.

01:47:01 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 3:

That's fair.

01:47:02 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So why do you feel, so she said she's a server. You know what? She technically probably is serving. You know what I mean? But why are you so bent up about that, Nathan?

01:47:16 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. To me, it's just kind of gross, honestly. Like, first of all, it was the line. And second of all, it's like, I don't know. I don't want to be with someone who's a dancer, you know, you know, dance with a bunch of dudes all night.

01:47:30 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 7:

Very valid point. So I totally understand where he's coming from.

01:47:33 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 6:

So when you say it's gross, you're saying that she's, she's dancing for a living. What you're not saying is that it's gross that she lied to you about this or you feel like she lied to you.

01:47:46 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't feel like that. That's what happens.

01:47:49 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 8:

And yeah, I was on your side because you can just say I'm not into that until you said she was gross for doing it. And now I'm like, yeah, I think she wins out on this one.

01:47:59 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 7:

I just think that that I was calling her gross, but I think that that is a very that is one of those professions that is very polarizing. And there are there are people and I'm including myself here. I would not be able to deal with the person that I was dating having that as their job.

01:48:16 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 5:

Why do you have to hide that, though? Like, I don't like the fact that she feels self-conscious enough that it's not something that she wants to talk about.

01:48:24 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 8:

She just said on the first date. Yeah, but why not? I think it's a lot like kids. People don't share that they have kids on the first date. And I disagree with that. I do, too. I do, too. But I understand why some people do it, because they want you to know me first before you just say no. I don't like it.

01:48:42 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 6:

Are there any other listeners that lie about their occupation or lie about, you know, something that they don't tell people until they're on a couple of dates, kind of like what Paige is doing here? Sam, what did you want to say?

01:48:52 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, hi. I think the man is warranted in how he feels, you know? I think that if, you know, if he is a great guy and I think there's not a lot of great guys out there, If she, her choice of career might have just lost her out on a good catch. I'm not sure.

01:49:14 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 6:

Would you date a stripper?

01:49:17 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm a great guy, and no, I would not.

01:49:23 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:49:23 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 5:

Why not, though?

01:49:24 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I hung up with him because I was going to pick up somebody who is a stripper. Would you, Kev?

01:49:30 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 5:

Would that bother you? I don't think so. But, I mean, it's tough to say what you would do unless, you know, you're into your industry.

01:49:36 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 6:

Would you tell your mom what she did for a living?

01:49:39 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm not sure if my mom would enjoy that.

01:49:41 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 6:

No. Chelsea, you are a dancer. I got to be careful because of no longer strippers. They're dancers. You're a dancer. Your thoughts on this, Chelsea?

01:49:52 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm not a dancer. Oh, it says I'm a dancer. I like dancers. Oh. Oh, listen, I'm all for it. Oh.

01:50:00 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, OK. I can't say that I have not had fun times with a stripper before. Oh, really? So I'm not discriminating. OK, it's OK if that's what she wants to do. It's also OK if somebody doesn't want to date somebody who is an exotic dancer or in that type of field. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be in a relationship with someone who does that. It's a personal preference. Do you find also understand that she wants to have privacy. but at the same time if you're dating for for the end goal it's not necessarily fair to take the opportunity away from him to make a decision about something like that before making a connection because how do we know that she you know they have a great connection and she might say oh my god i can't tell i'm going to lose him and how long is this lie going to continue before she does tell him the truth i understand her i understand him but she definitely needs to

01:50:54 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

gives him the opportunity to make that decision for himself is it easy for you to pick up strippers

01:51:00 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 1:

at strip clubs because you're a woman oh they love it when girls go they love it my ex-boyfriend was so pissed off really what was he upset about oh yeah he wanted the attention because i was getting attention yeah i was getting attention and he wasn't and when he tried to get in our face they pushed him away so no they love it when the girls come and hang out and have fun and it's not even always a sexual thing it's just it's fun for them to see women supporting other women it's just it's it's fun for them it's fun for us too if you don't like it that's fine that's totally fine but if you're someone who does or you do it you have to kind of own that she should

01:51:38 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 4:

have gone with go-go dancer if she was gonna lie about yeah just say that instead of a server what's

01:51:43 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 5:

up carmen hi good morning guys good morning morning um he said it's gross but his friends go there i don't get that does that mean they're gross and aren't you who you hang out with

01:51:55 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 3:

yeah do you ever go to strip clubs nathan i mean yeah i'm sorry i didn't say she was gross i just

01:52:03 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 4:

said i would feel gross being with a dancer how does that change what you just said i and by the

01:52:12 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 3:

way how is that different you go you go to strip clubs for what they're doing i just don't want to

01:52:17 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 4:

be with them like there's definitely a difference um all right kim you are a stripper unlike the color i just thought was a stripper but is that right dancer bro you're what's that i'm a dancer you're a dancer okay yes when did they change the name of strippers and dancer bro when why this is like over a decade ago why did they change it what's explain it because they can I understand, but what was offensive about saying stripper?

01:52:50 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 2:

Doesn't T-Pain have to change the name of his song, then?

01:52:53 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 4:

T-Pain's in the wrong.

01:52:56 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 6:

When I go off date with somebody, the very first thing, I tell them before we go out. Because I don't want to waste anybody's time, right? No reason to waste anybody's time. And I believe being up front. Why not? What's the worst thing that's going to happen? You're not going to go on a second date. But at least you're honest.

01:53:15 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 4:

So talk to Paige right now. Tell Paige what she should be doing. Paige, this is Kim the Dancer.

01:53:21 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 6:

Move on.

01:53:22 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 4:

Move on.

01:53:23 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Kim the Dancer. Move on because it's not worth it. You're probably an awesome person and it's your job and I know it's your job. But somebody out there for you and that's how it goes.

01:53:38 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 2:

Is this a common thing? Is this a common thing that you've dealt with? or that other women in the locker room, I don't know what y'all call it, have dealt with is not being able to have serious relationships because of your profession?

01:53:51 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. Then you have the guys that love it. I'm in love with the cancer, you know? Oh, she changed it. She changed it.

01:53:58 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's the AC radio version.

01:54:02 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 6:

That's the radio version, yeah. No, a lot of men don't like it. A lot of men think they like it and can handle it until you're in a relationship. Then it's another story.

01:54:11 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 4:

I could see that. I could see where that would be tough. All right, real quick, I want to grab a couple of these callers here because these people are not dancers, but they have occupations that they lie about. Amy, what's your occupation that you don't tell people on a first date about?

01:54:28 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 5:

Massage therapy.

01:54:29 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 4:

Why not?

01:54:32 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 5:

Because everyone always says, oh, I could use one of those,

01:54:35 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 6:

or, oh, I need my shoulders rubbed, and it's just, I don't know. It's just not very appropriate.

01:54:41 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 4:

You don't want to have to bring your occupation out on a date.

01:54:44 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 1:

I feel bad for you because I feel like in every relationship you're ever going to be in, people are going to want you to rub their back. Right.

01:54:50 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 4:

Or family relationship, right? Ashley, what's your occupation that you lie about?

01:54:57 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

So I'm in the military, and I don't typically...

01:55:00 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 2:

tell men that i'm in the military because you just don't know who you're going on a date with sometimes either they're not going to like your occupation it could be you know some stalker or you know they could also pose some security risk where um they're in a militia or something that don't really get along with military or you know a target interesting that's wild it's heavy

01:55:21 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 1:

because i would i would find that to be something that a guy would be hot over like you know you uh a man or a woman in uniform, you know?

01:55:30 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, not always. You get some guys that, you know, are offended because either, you know, you have a more masculine position than them or more masculine occupation than them. I was married and it didn't work out because he couldn't handle the fact that, you know, I was breadwinner and he wasn't. What did he do for a living? Yeah. He was a firefighter.

01:55:50 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. That's how we think both of those jobs are amazing. But that's wild that he would look at yours to be more masculine than him. Well, thank you for your service. We appreciate you.

01:56:01 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for your support.

01:56:03 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning. All right, we're going to give away some tickets to go to see the Pistons play on 3-1-3 day. Last night, they destroyed the team that you're going to be watching them play against, the Washington Wizards. And Wizards, they won by, what, like 25 points or something last night?

01:56:24 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 4:

I ended up on them.

01:56:25 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Pistons versus Wizards again tomorrow night, 3-1-3 night at the Little Caesars Arena. And autographed Jason Duren basketball. Jalen Duren. Jalen Duren. Jersey. Jalen Duren. Why are you yelling like that? Just say, no, it's Jalen. It's just how I taught. You also said basketball. What did I say? Jersey. It's a jersey. Something. I don't know. Just call right now. Be the 95th caller. I've been for an hour and a half holding the fact that I've got to go to the bathroom.

01:56:49 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 6:

I have to go so bad. I don't know if I'm going to get to the dirty. This could be really interesting.

01:56:53 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 1:

Do a quick one. Just do a very quick one.

01:56:55 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Wendy Williams made a surprise. Go. Oh, my God. Please. Please. Honestly. I'm down. I'm down. That's how bad I act about it. Go ahead. I got it. I was so bad. You know when your eyes start to water? That's me right now. Wendy Williams made a surprise call to Good Day New York yesterday morning telling the host that she was evaluated for her you know mental capacity she passed this is the day after i told you she was rushed to the hospital because she dropped a note from the window of the assisted living facility where she is and she said she passed with flying colors i have options but um

01:57:34 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

in terms of in terms of getting out of guardianship that is my number one a number one most important

01:57:41 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 6:

she wants to be done she said she is a virtual prisoner at this memory facility where she's been

01:57:46 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 3:

staying financial advisor i've had that for you listen of course of course a financial advisor of course there's somebody to look after my money you know i'm saying yeah because the money that i have right now is all with my guardian person yeah she sounds fine she sounds fine and the host also

01:58:04 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 6:

asked her about like okay you know would you be accepting of a financial advisor that was her answer obviously right there but also would you be accepting of a sober companion and she was like I don't need that. I'm not drinking. I don't drink. So she sounds like I'm very confused by this case.

01:58:22 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 4:

I remember a couple of years ago when they had that documentary. I don't know if it was an episodic documentary or a full-length film, but that was a major piece of it was her addiction to alcohol.

01:58:32 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 5:

But she was still with these caregivers, right, that put her into this facility. And as soon as she wasn't under their direct care, all of the symptoms just miraculously disappeared. she's coherent she's fine what's to say that these people weren't drugging her like or or which we've heard happens right just to take advantage of her money yeah that's what it got to come down reviews does she have to do completely coherent how many court cases how many whatever before we go she was taking advantage of yeah to drop a note this is help

01:59:02 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 4:

wendy like get her get her out of there i will say this though i have been in situations with people who have um i don't know i don't experience bipolar disorder and schizophrenia not saying that i want to diagnose wendy like that but they can show up and quote-unquote be their best selves when they are in front of a camera okay all right i don't know if that's this situation but but is

01:59:23 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

putting somebody like that in what is essentially a very fancy jail the solution yeah i need to take All right, I got to keep going.

01:59:31 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:59:31 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:59:32 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sorry, sorry.

01:59:34 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 6:

Four people arrested in the death of that sweet five-year-old little boy, Thomas Cooper, who died in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber explosion at a place called the Oxford Center in Troy, Michigan. This is a big story for our Detroit area listeners. So yesterday, the owner and three employees of this facility were arraigned on criminal charges, accused of completely disregarding safety protocols and failing to follow the manufacturer's recommend.

02:00:00 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 2:

guidelines for this type of treatment. Any step towards justice, I have found helps families that are grieving, but nothing's ever going to replace that beautiful boy. It's been six weeks

02:00:09 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 1:

since Thomas Cooper lost his life in the most unimaginable way at the now shuttered Oxford Center in Troy. Cooper was receiving treatment for ADHD and sleep apnea inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber when there was an explosion. Little Cooper was trapped inside with the flames. His mother couldn't open the lock treatment machine, and either could anyone on staff. Sources tell me there were not enough required and qualified therapists on duty at the time. We treat between 60 to 80 patients a day in hyperbarics. Fox 2 learning from eyewitnesses of the wrongdoing to key evidence, Troy Police quickly getting enough to charge those responsible, including founder and CEO of the Oxford Center, Tammy Peterson. And Monday morning, officers arrested Peterson at her palatial Brighton home. Peterson and two others are facing second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges. A fourth person arrested for involuntary manslaughter and entering false information on medical records.

02:01:08 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 2:

The fact that they're charging Ms. Peterson in this supports that she had some personal involvement in this. I mean, somebody doesn't get charged if they didn't take a specific action to bring something like this to happen.

02:01:21 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 5:

The interesting thing, by the way, was they were falsifying a lot of stuff.

02:01:24 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 3:

There was one employee that completely wasn't even licensed to do this. And they falsified that and had a criminal record working there. So it's going to be interesting to see what ends up happening, that hyperbaric chamber thing. A lot of people go to it because they say the healing process happens. I don't know if I want to go into one of those things.

02:01:42 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 5:

Again, these are second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter charges. It's so sad. four are facing. So sad. And lastly, get ready to shell out more money if you are flying Southwest. The airline going to start charging all but its highest status loyalty or business passengers to check your bags. It used to be free. No longer. All the airlines are

02:02:06 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 3:

going to be raising prices too. The move begins with tickets

02:02:07 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 5:

purchased from May 28th on for Southwest in particular. They say that the

02:02:11 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 3:

times are the toughest right now for the airlines that people aren't flying so they're going to have to raise all the prices. the tickets prices are going to go so skyrocketing high because of the lack of people that want to fly right now.

02:02:24 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, stop the planes from falling out the sky. Maybe people want to fly.

02:02:27 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't believe that that's the reason why I think people don't have the money to pay for their eggs at the grocery store.

02:02:33 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 4:

I also think that's the reason. Really? Yeah. I don't think so. You don't think planes falling out the sky has become a deterrent for people?

02:02:38 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 3:

By the way, planes, there have been no more planes falling out of the sky. What do you mean no more? There have been more reports of them happening. If you look at the things that have been happening, go Google how many plane incidents that we've had now since the beginning of the year and how many we had last year. It's virtually the same, if not less, this year. We're hearing more about them.

02:02:59 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

But that matters, though. Awareness is what causes fear at times. You're saying.

02:03:04 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 3:

The media is making it an issue right now. And if they made it an issue last year, would it have happened the same last year or the year before that? It's the same amount of planes. that same, it's still safer to fly than it is to drive in your car.

02:03:16 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 4:

That's not the conversation. All I'm saying is when you start telling people people are shooting outside, less people go outside.

02:03:23 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 3:

I think that, well... Regardless of how many murders are happening. Then you need to look at why they're telling you that. I think this, this is my thoughts on this, I don't think people can afford to put food on their table and if you can't afford to put food on your table, you're not getting up in an airplane and going on a vacation somewhere. We agree. I think that's the reason why people aren't flying. I don't think it has to do with planes falling or that plane accident that took place.

02:03:45 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 4:

You want to go back and forth?

02:03:47 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 3:

No.

Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to the amazing M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M Also, you're qualified for a Jalen Duren jersey. Yeah, autograph. What number is he? Zero, right? Zero. Come on with the facts. No, no, no, no. He's not zero. He's zero, zero, zero. He is zero. He's balling right now. That's what he's doing. He almost got into a little bit of a fight.

02:05:00 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 1:

yesterday until they saw how big he was and then was it pool is it jordan pool yeah the one draymond knocked out jordan pool the guy who used to play on the golden state warriors champion who's spartan uh uh draymond green should have just destroyed that guy he should have just beat the crap out of him uh congratulations to you man have fun at the game cab will you do me a favor will you make sure that if tyler's got uh any chance of seeing you will you just at least give him a big high five when you see them. Definitely, definitely. Tyler, DM me or I'll figure out where your seats are and we can definitely connect. All right, buddy. You'll have fun. Sounds good. I appreciate it. Thank you. Thanks, buddy. 313. Tyler doesn't want to see me. He's very mellow. Tyler, real quick before we go any further. Tyler, why are you so mellow, Tyler? We're all hyped today. We're all, like, upbeat. We're all happy. People, by the way, my favorite is when you yell, Jeremy! It's like that. Somebody said, Somebody said that you sounded like Samuel L. Jackson. That's how I talk.

02:06:04 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

We're a Le'Veon Bell. I've got to play that clip again. Ever, ever. Crazy, right?

02:06:10 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 2:

I guess I'm pretty mellow with all this 696 traffic. Oh, it's the worst?

02:06:16 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 3:

How much longer is it taking you to get to where you need to be?

02:06:23 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 2:

Depends on the day. Usually about 35 minutes longer. Oh, that's so bad.

02:06:27 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

secretly, I kind of love it because it means you have to listen to us.

02:06:32 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 2:

6.96? More like 6.90 sucks.

02:06:35 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 3:

But that does suck.

02:06:37 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 1:

It's so nasty. I hate it because, and I don't get to see it in the morning, thank God, because I know that everybody's been going on the lodge now and that's how I get to work every day. But in the afternoon is when it's bad. Going home sometimes is crazy to see how many people are just trying to figure out their way are you doing the mile roads or are you trying to do that stupid m dot

02:07:02 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 2:

thing that they came up with um i'm trying various different ways are you so every day is a different

02:07:08 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 1:

one yeah hopefully in the next week or so you'll figure it out yeah yeah a friend of mine was telling me they're like they make no sense because they shut off to uh telegraph road and so they won't let you go on to telegraph and you know and do some things they're hurting the businesses off of Telegraph Road by doing that. So there's many of those businesses that shouldn't be affected by 696 closures that MDOT is screwing right now. And a buddy of mine has a business just off of Telegraph Road, and he says that a lot of his clients don't want to come to his business because of that. And a lot of those restaurants, those car dealerships that are right in that area there, Tamaroff Automotive, we love our guys over there. My friends, Eric and Chris over at Tamaroff. I mean, it's crazy to see what's been happening with this stuff. But, well, thank you, buddy. I appreciate it. Hold on. Let's get your information. He's stuck in traffic right now. If you're stuck in traffic right now, thank you for listening to the show. We appreciate it. Hopefully, we are able to at least give you something to listen to, which is nice. Yeah. Although yesterday was crazy. The radio station in Detroit had an issue that was dealing where our station signal was skipping. and I heard it over the weekend and I cannot believe I didn't say anything to our boss because I thought it was just my car and I don't know why I would think that like but it was if you had an HD radio your HD radio would replay like a couple of seconds every couple of minutes and it was such a pain to listen to and so many of our listeners you know were had been texting us and I thought oh maybe they just got an issue with their thing if you ever have an issue like that go right to the app but thank you for shouting us out and telling us about that because mark uh our engineer had to go and figure that out it should be fixed today i think that they're waiting for a part i know it sounds weird but it won't be happening to you yeah they did so we're driving without brakes today i think something like that like there's pieces of this this station that are kind of like falling off, like, of the radio signal. And poor Mark. Mark's been going solo, too, because of he's the only engineer now in the office here, because Randy, you know, is on medical leave. I didn't know that. Yeah, so Mark's been kicking it. Look how good he is. Look at this guy over there. Shout out to Mark. Can I recommend something to Colleen, if you're listening? I know Colleen listens, you know, on her way in in the morning. Can we rename the the rack room after mark and randy like oh my god that's so funny like let's let's

02:09:44 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 3:

call by the way the rack room if you're not aware is like it's where all of the equipment is is that

02:09:48 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

keeps us on the air and i know that that doesn't give them anything other than you know they'd probably rather have money i mean i know there's no money but i but i i like i almost wish that we should we should do something where we name something after these guys

02:10:00 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 2:

Because these guys, or even the studio, this on-air studio, I'd give it, make it their studio or something. Do you want to have a ribbon-cutting ceremony? Oh, my God. No, I don't. No more ribbon-cuttings for me. I'm done with ribbon-cuttings.

02:10:15 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 1:

We've never had one here. You just want to cause problems. I mean, we got to commemorate it.

02:10:20 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 2:

We're going to do it. Can I tell you the funniest thing? A buddy of mine just bought a bunch of Domino's pizzas and stuff like that. It has like some Domino's pizza stuff. And he said to me, he goes, if you guys ever want to come out to my ribbon cuttings, I'll invite you. I'm like, don't do that. He's not in a wound, man. Don't do that. All right, let me get a legal in here. WKQI Detroit.

02:10:41 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 1:

02:11:33 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 2:

02:11:34 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 1:

Alright.

02:11:57 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning.

02:12:00 - 02:12:00 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:12:01 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama.

02:12:03 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Kendall? Hey, Mojo. How you doing?

02:12:08 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 3:

Good, how are you? First time, long time. Yeah.

02:12:15 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 2:

Alright, Kendall, are you ready for this? We're going to actually have a double thing. We're going to do five lies on your mom, but we're also going to celebrate your mom because mom officially has gotten everybody out of the house, and she's now an official empty nester.

02:12:29 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, my sister's still there. My sister's in the basement living there, but she's going to be moving out soon. Okay. So she thinks she's going to be an empty nester.

02:12:40 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so that's perfect then. That's even better because she's probably counting the days until she's getting your sister the hell out. Here are the lies. Listen for these during the five lies. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, the apartment complex found out about, do you have a dog?

02:12:57 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 1:

It's a cat, Zoe.

02:12:58 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 2:

You have a cat? They found out about Zoe. Lie number two.

02:13:01 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 1:

Say, they're kicking us out and we only have two weeks.

02:13:05 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Lie number three. Say, can we come move in with you? Lie number four.

02:13:12 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 3:

You're so accommodating. Me and Andrew can take the basement.

02:13:16 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 2:

Is Andrew the man in your life?

02:13:19 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:13:19 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 2:

All right. And lie number five, we will try our best to be quiet when we're messing around.

02:13:27 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:13:28 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Try to see if you can slide that in there somewhere. We're going to call your mom up, and I want you to get through all these lies so that you can win mom a prize.

02:13:36 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Sounds good. Oh, my God. I'm scared. hello mom yeah mom mom i'm freaking out right now what's going on mom they found out about zoe and we're getting mom they found out about zoe and we're getting evicted what mom i swear to god i think the guy i think the guy who fixed the toilets hold on or something. Mom, we're getting evicted and says we only have two weeks. We have to be out by the 17th. What the

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Unknown:

f***?

02:14:25 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Evicted. Evicted. They said it's my third offense for having an unauthorized pet. I have to be out in two weeks. Third offense? You've never been contacted before, have you? I did, and I didn't want to tell you. I was late paying rent last month. I didn't want to worry you i i was like a week late paying rent and this is my third offense they're evicting us we have to be out in two weeks mom i'm freaking out can't is there a way you can go talk to them and say you'll be

02:15:00 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 4:

willing to pay the extra a month? I tried I tried they said no they said there's no there's nothing they it's the third event we have no choice we're gonna mom can we move in with you until we figure this out we're gonna have to move in with you. What are we gonna do with Zoe? We're gonna have to take the basement with Zoe and Kaylee's just gonna have to move into one of the guest rooms

02:15:21 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 5:

or something I don't know. Kendall I I gotta think about this there there's no way that Kaylee can be uprooted out of her area there's gonna have to be something else

02:15:33 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 4:

figured out I know I know we're loud but like I don't want to be in the room right next to you like we'll take the basement I promise we'll be quiet like if we're getting it on or anything I don't know I don't know mom I'm freaking out why

02:15:44 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 5:

didn't you tell me any of this because we couldn't help you

02:15:51 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 4:

He just left a notice on my door, and I tried calling him, Mom. I didn't know.

02:15:59 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 5:

What the f***? I know there's apartments available. We can find you something else.

02:16:04 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom.

02:16:05 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 5:

What?

02:16:07 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mom. How you doing?

02:16:10 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 5:

Who is this?

02:16:12 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 2:

Mom, this is the mojo in the morning show here to tell you that you've been on five lies to tell your mom.

02:16:17 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I was freaking out. Kendall, you are a really good actress. Oh, my God.

02:16:27 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 2:

Mom, you're not crying, are you? Are you crying?

02:16:30 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, but we're turning like, how can we make this work? And oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Wait, are you crying? Are you crying? No, no. No, no, no. I guess I'm relieved that it's not true because I'm trying to think. Oh, my goodness, Kendall.

02:16:44 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 2:

You're thinking to yourself, I thought I finally got these kids the hell out of my house. That's what you were thinking to yourself. Oh, my gosh.

02:16:51 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. If you knew the situation, there's just so much. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Hey, Kendall won Mama Prize. I am slightly worried that the apartment complex is going to hear this and actually realize you have a cat in there.

02:17:05 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 2:

I know. That's true. I never thought about that.

02:17:07 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:17:08 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 2:

We have to protect the names of the innocent here. Mom, your daughter is an amazing actress. Holy crap. She can get anything she wants when she does that.

02:17:17 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 5:

She sure is. Oh, my gosh. I was just worried why she didn't tell me. Oh, my gosh.

02:17:26 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you were priceless. That was awesome. Get mom a prize. That was amazing. What the f***? Oh, we got something good for you. We got something good for you.

02:17:38 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 5:

All right. Okay. Then it'll be worth my elevated heart rate. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:47 - 02:17:47 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:17:47 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mother.

02:17:52 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of elevated heart rates, I think that might be the most exercise I've ever gotten during the show.

02:18:00 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 1:

You were a little out of breath in your time.

02:18:02 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. And I actually wasn't even doing full on. I'm bummed that Megan wouldn't participate. Megan, feed up chili. I told you. Did I lie? You're in the best shape ever. That's right. Come on.

02:18:14 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 3:

I don't have the right bra on. Yeah. But, yeah. That's what I told her. I never thought about that. When you guys were talking about this, I looked at her. I go, you stay your butt in your seat. No. No. We'll end up on the wrong site today. What is it called? To Google what kind of bra I have to work out in. Is it a SheFit sports bra? I need you to see how many straps and levers. Yeah, SheFit is what I have to wear to work out. It's got zippers. It's got four different adjustable straps. I got to strap these puppies in.

02:18:43 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 1:

Is that workout period or is that like jumping jacks?

02:18:46 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 3:

Workout period.

02:18:46 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 1:

You could bang out a good shoulders, knees, and toes and not have to have the levers.

02:18:50 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 3:

No, my boobs will fall at the top of my bra.

02:18:51 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even realize that. I'm sorry.

02:18:53 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 3:

I hear you.

02:18:54 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when you are in the gym and stuff like that, do people stare at you at all or no?

02:19:01 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 3:

Bruh, let me tell you. I am at the point in my life, and I don't mean to brag, but I'm going to brag. I just started going to the gym without having to wear two bras, and it is the best feeling in the world. Love that for me.

02:19:13 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 2:

That's an account. That's awesome.

02:19:14 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 3:

But I used to have to wear an underwire bra under a sports bra because that's how big my boobs are. And now they hang down to my knees. But no, just one. But you got to strap those bad boys in because they like to hang low.

02:19:27 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it's tougher? Like, who do you think gets looked at more?

02:19:31 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 3:

Please play low.

02:19:32 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 1:

Who do you think gets looked at more in the gym? Big boob ladies or big booty ladies?

02:19:36 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 3:

Big booty ladies. Big boob ladies are not cute at the gym. We look like our back hurts. big butt girls just look cute

02:19:44 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 2:

I was having a conversation with a friend who happens to own some Planet Fitnesses

02:19:53 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 5:

by the name of Brian

02:19:56 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 2:

and I asked him the question one of the questions I asked him

02:20:00 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 3:

you ever have to like take away memberships and stuff like that he said that it hasn't happened in a while at any of the planet fitnesses because he says usually the people that go there go for you know because they feel good about being able to go there but he said that there were times believe it or not there were women that uh were gawking men oh takeaway memberships for that i

02:20:19 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 5:

thought you meant for dressing inappropriately or something no uh we should have uniforms at the gym

02:20:25 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

like high school gym really yeah do you remember what your uniform was and it would have your you you would have your school's name and then you had to put your, you had to write your name in that little open box.

02:20:33 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 6:

Metallic blue shorts and a bright canary yellow t-shirt that's in our slum.

02:20:37 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 5:

We never had uniforms for gym. Oh, yeah.

02:20:41 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. At private schools, you would have that. Oh, it wasn't cute.

02:20:45 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 6:

I wasn't pleased about it.

02:20:47 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number to get through to us this morning. Do we have anybody, anybody working out listening to the show right now? Like, anybody actually, like, listen to the show working out?

02:21:01 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 4:

Get a good pump listening.

02:21:02 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 3:

Is our show a workout show? Like, could you work out listening to this show?

02:21:06 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 4:

I think so. No. There's no music.

02:21:08 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 3:

We're not playing any music at all or anything.

02:21:10 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 6:

It's like listening to a podcast. Do you know what I listen to every time? Beyonce's Homecoming on Netflix. See, I listen to podcasts.

02:21:17 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 5:

I don't ever listen to music. Very rarely do I listen to music. Yeah, I always listen to something that's interesting.

02:21:21 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 3:

I usually, like, watch. I have to watch something. Like, so I watch, like, ESPN or, like, I'll have something on, like, that. But I have to, like, have something, like, visually.

02:21:31 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, when I was working out, I could listen to a sermon. Really? Like, I'll put a sermon on and...

02:21:36 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 5:

I mean, lately, it's been a book on tape for me. That is psychotic. Yeah, but it keeps me...

02:21:40 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 6:

I, like, lose track of time, though, which is so good. No, that's when I focus on the time because it's moving so slow.

02:21:48 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 3:

Texter, I'm listening to you guys working out. I can't call you because I'm in the middle of my workout. I like that. That's all right. You know what? You're good. We're not going to ask you to call us.

02:21:59 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, by the way, for being the person who is aware of that because I was on the treadmill the other day and the guy next to me was taking calls on his AirPods and I was so annoyed. Was he talking really loud? He wasn't talking really loud, to be fair, but he was just taking all his office calls on the treadmill. And I'm like, I feel like that's not allowed.

02:22:18 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 6:

Zach from our show has FaceTimed me so many times at the gym. It's not even funny. He's at the gym or you're? No, I'm at the gym, and he has, like, a question about, like, something work-related.

02:22:27 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 5:

If it's quick, that's fine. But this was, like, every call that was on his agenda for the afternoon.

02:22:32 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 3:

Brittany, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:22:35 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 1:

Morning. I run 5Ks, and I like to run for fun, and I listen to you guys, your podcast, every time I do. I love it.

02:22:43 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 4:

That's wild. Run for fun.

02:22:44 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 3:

5Ks. How long? Wait, how? I know it's 5K, but what is it? How many miles?

02:22:50 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 1:

Just over three miles.

02:22:51 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 3:

Is that three miles?

02:22:52 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's only three. I'm training for a 10K. It's still not that much. I want to do a half marathon one day.

02:22:57 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. That's way more than I could do. I'm going to tell you this. There ain't no way. Like when I host like these, you know, different charitable walks and they'll be like, hey, would you like to walk it? I'm like, I'll stay back here at the stage. I'll make sure everybody. We did the turkey trot together one year. Turkey trot. And do you remember what the weather was? It was ice on the street. Do you remember that?

02:23:19 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 6:

And I was very pregnant.

02:23:20 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 3:

It was crazy.

02:23:21 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 6:

I want to do the turkey trot so bad. It goes in front of my apartment, and it looks like it's so much fun.

02:23:26 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 3:

It's fun until you realize that there's no way to get home. There's no way to get out. What's up, Jill? How you doing?

02:23:34 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Well, I work in the morning, so I can't work out while you guys are live. But I was telling Lydia that the best time to work out to you guys would be during the Friday morning remit.

02:23:42 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm right.

02:23:43 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 2:

That would have me so motivated. It gets you going. That's the best workout of my life.

02:23:47 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that is the most flattering thing when parents will walk up with their kids and their kids will go, this is the Mojo in the morning show. That's awesome, Jill.

02:23:56 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

I told you guys I was really hyped for that one morning and I blew out my tire with a pothole because I was paying too much attention.

02:24:02 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. I feel like we got to get you something for that one. Shout out to us.

02:24:06 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 4:

That's okay. Shout out to, it's a kid named Cody Jefferson and his mom's name, Kim Hortzman. They love the Friday morning remix. So shout out to them. Great listeners.

02:24:15 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 3:

A couple more. Or 616, listening to you guys right now, working out. 269, work out every single day, listening to you guys in Muskegon. 248, I'm right now at Planet Fitness. Just me free. Listening to you guys. I like that. That's cool. These are all good. People commenting on the form of our jumping jacks that we did just a couple minutes ago.

02:24:45 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 4:

I saw mine saying my arms weren't outstretched far enough.

02:24:49 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:24:49 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 4:

It was like you had the tiny hands. I wasn't going full. I didn't know I was going to be judged.

02:24:53 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

He's got tiny hands and other tiny stuff, too, but we won't talk about that. I'm sorry.

02:24:59 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 6:

It's not you.

02:25:00 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 3:

02:25:31 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. If you do call, tell us if you're a first time, long time. And if you do text, know that you'll get a call from our producer, Lydia. And if you don't answer her calls, she's stopped. I will F you up like Shannon said. That's it. There she goes. All right. Shannon, when I initially saw this thing, I thought you were talking about your husband's family. But you are not. I'm married into a weird family.

02:26:18 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 2:

Have you married into a weird family, a family that just does something or has a strange habit that is so off the wall, but now they're your family too. I think I've talked about this before, but my little sister, Jacqueline, lives like less than 10 minutes from me. So we see her and my two nieces a ton. And every time we go to her house, not every time, but a good chunk of the times, we gather around my sister on her couch and she cleans all of our ears with that little ear camera that's attached to your iphone and we love this my kids love this her girls love it then she does her own excuse me and we all sit there and watch and two nights ago we were there my poor brother-in-law ryan goes i married into a really weird family you did but you love it the fact that this is an Organized family activity is what's weird. And my kids run in and they're like, can you clean our ears, Aunt Jacqueline? We love it. Why?

02:27:18 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 3:

Do those things really work? Oh, yeah. They do, bro.

02:27:21 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 2:

And it's fascinating to see what is in your ear. It is.

02:27:24 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez.

02:27:25 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 4:

I want to say it's safer, too. Like with Q-tips, sometimes you're actually pushing the wax in. You're not really cleaning.

02:27:31 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 1:

Everybody says that. Everybody says that. Have you ever met anybody who had that happen to them? I'm not saying it doesn't happen. I watch those weird doctors. I see it get cleaned out. But is that like one in 10 billion people? Like, how often does that happen?

02:27:47 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 2:

I think it can get impacted around your eardrum.

02:27:49 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 4:

But my point is, do you know anybody that this ever happened to? No, no. I'm saying like when you put a Q-tip in your ear and you like twist it or you turn it or whatever the case is, yes, some wax can come out, but not as much as you think it's coming out. You're actually pushing some in when you push the Q-tip in your ear. You need to get one of these things.

02:28:05 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 2:

I wish we could talk to my brother-in-law. I think he's working, and he's also very shy, but he just apparently has a very monotone voice. It does he? Yeah.

02:28:13 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 3:

So, by the way, that could be kind of funny. And they put the thing in their air. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Tell us about the weird family that you married into or maybe that your significant other married into. I don't know. maybe you want to just call out the weird family and like the weird family tradition. I still remember the first time that Chelsea met my family. She, we were dating. We lived in Arizona. My family all lived in Chicago. And it was the year that my aunt gave everybody boxes of chocolate, but she only gave the people that were in relationships and they were actually, do you ever, do you know what a frango mince are?

02:28:55 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

02:28:56 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 3:

This is the frango mince story. They used to have frango mince at Macy's or Hudson's and Marshall fields in Chicago and stuff.

02:29:02 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to Marshall food.

02:29:03 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 3:

And my aunt Jenny gave all those that had relationships frango mints, including me, because I had a new relationship. I was dating Chelsea. Pat was the only one that didn't have a relationship. Poor Aunt Pat. Pat started crying over her frango mints.

02:29:19 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 1:

Can I say something controversial yet brave?

02:29:21 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:29:21 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 1:

Your aunt is a bitch.

02:29:22 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 3:

She was a bitchy. No, actually, she was awesome. She didn't mean it. She thought it was like a family gift, and she goes, oh, I just wanted to do it. But it didn't play well for Pat.

02:29:32 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 4:

Was she in a relationship, your aunt?

02:29:33 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 3:

No, she was a single one. She was a single aunt. Oh, that's so funny. Isn't that funny? Did you give Pat your Frankel mints? Everybody offered her our Frankel. We'll give you our effing mints. But that was like the thing, and Chelsea was like, I remember we were going to bed that night, and Chelsea goes, that was really uninteresting. I'm like, Chelsea, this is just the start of it. Soon we'll be cleaning each other's ears. That's addicting. I'm telling you. By the way. I am telling you. Your ears would be fascinating. You have so much earwax more than anybody else I've ever met in my life.

02:30:07 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 2:

Bring it in, and I'll have you clean it during the show. It would be a jackpot. What's up, Buck? How you doing?

02:30:12 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 3:

Good. My mother-in-law or my wife and my mother-in-law's family are just really weird. They always seem to have some ailments and issues. I had to take my father-in-law to the doctor one time, the EMT, because he couldn't hear, and we thought he was having issues. and they cleaned out, like, three different Q-tip swabs, a big old cotton ball. It was, oh, my God, it was so nice.

02:30:33 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 2:

Wait, they were all stuck in his ears still? All the stuff they took out. Yeah. Oh, my God. I love that. That's wild. So here we are talking about that, and it actually happened to your father-in-law. And that's, like, the weird family thing that you guys have. That's crazy. Tasha, what's going on?

02:30:50 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hi. So this Christmas, we were getting ready to get my daughter's presents out, My husband had got her, like, a little kid tool bench, and I wanted to cover it. And he was like, well, it's from Santa. You don't wrap the presents from Santa. And I said, what?

02:31:08 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. By the way, that is kind of an interesting thing. Santa should not be wrapped. He doesn't wrap presents, but Santa, for some reason, in some families, wraps presents.

02:31:17 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

I think the elves wrap presents, depending on the household.

02:31:21 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 2:

So did this become, like, an issue when you bring a new person into the family? The tradition was different in theirs?

02:31:29 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So, like, I always had my presents wrapped, like, growing up. And so it was so odd when my husband was like, I don't wrap presents from Santa. And I was like, wait a second.

02:31:41 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 2:

It's funny.

02:31:42 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 5:

How do you do that?

02:31:43 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 2:

My family was different, too. In my family growing up as a kid, it was different than Chelsea's. Santa came in my family on Christmas Eve where Santa comes to Chelsea and now our kids family we took her tradition of Christmas Day that was hard for me because as a kid it was always Santa was on Christmas Eve and you know what Santa can come any day he wants to right Michelle hi Michelle what's going on

02:32:12 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 4:

hi Mojo I hold on Hold on. Okay. Oh, wait, wait, hold on. We're not live. It's okay.

02:32:20 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 2:

What are you doing? What do you got going on there?

02:32:22 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 4:

Coffee? I'm hoping I can't move this chest into her little apartment thing, but here we go. Okay.

02:32:28 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 2:

You're helping somebody move?

02:32:31 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 4:

My aunt, yes. Okay. Hi, Aunt Kathy. Hi. What's up, Kathy? Hi. It's Aunt Kathy. We love Aunt Kathy.

02:32:42 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 2:

We don't speak her wrong.

02:32:44 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 4:

It's favorite Aunt Kathy.

02:32:45 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 2:

Favorite Aunt Kathy.

02:32:46 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 4:

I got one of those.

02:32:48 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Does she give everybody frango mints? How does that work?

02:32:52 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

No, but she bought me an egg McMuffin and a coffee this morning. I'll take that any day.

02:32:57 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 2:

That's so nice. What's the weird family tradition?

02:33:02 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 4:

My husband, his brothers, dated the same girl, which they had fruit from. So he's got, how can I explain this? His nephews are brothers, half-brothers, but also cousins, because his brothers had a baby with the same girl.

02:33:26 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 2:

This is fantastic.

02:33:28 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 4:

And then they broke up, and now they dated somebody new, and now they switched girlfriends again. Again? Ooh, that is some drama.

02:33:37 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 2:

And Kathy, what do you think about that whole situation?

02:33:41 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I had to walk away from Aunt Kathy. Aunt Kathy is Catholic, but she doesn't need to know this.

02:33:47 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she doesn't need to know.

02:33:50 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 2:

That is spectacular.

02:33:51 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 4:

The secrets.

02:33:52 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 2:

Where are you guys from? Where do you guys listen to us?

02:33:56 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, I am in Nunica, which you guys probably have no idea. It's kind of by Grand Haven. Oh, yeah. Okay.

02:34:02 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 2:

We'll be out your way to West Michigan this weekend.

02:34:04 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

Yep. Yes, I know. I'm trying to get over there to see you guys. I want to meet you so bad.

02:34:10 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, we can't wait.

02:34:10 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 4:

We hope to bring everybody here. Oh, Aunt Kathy will while out. You have no idea.

02:34:19 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Oh, my God. Well, what a story. That is a great story. What's going on, Lisa? Hi.

02:34:26 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 6:

Hi there. How are you this morning? First time calling a long time ago. Hey. So, anyways, I was telling your lady who I talked to just a moment ago, and I apologize. Lydia said that my uncle used to use Q-tips in his ears all the time. He was cleaning it out one day. Somebody came up to him and spoke to him, and he turned real fast. It got damned into his ear, and he lost his hearing in that ear.

02:34:58 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you see that, Shannon?

02:35:00 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 1:

and Megan you guys good I don't care that weird feeling you get when you shove that Q-tip in too

02:35:08 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 2:

far you know what's weird you can don't you feel it in your loins when you when you hit that eardrum it's like nails on a chalkboard or something yeah wait did you just compare arousal to nails

02:35:28 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 4:

You haven't been aroused

02:35:32 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 2:

Like I've been aroused Like a Q-tip can arouse you

02:35:35 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

You name your Q-tips Monica Shout out to Barbara Lisa, I love her

02:35:46 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 2:

Actually, it's like Freak-a-League It's like the Shout out to Marino

02:35:52 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 4:

Alright, you want to go to Irish on Ionia

02:35:56 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 2:

We do have VIP tickets It's Irish and Ionia this Saturday. It's actually off Ionia. I keep saying on, but, you know, you've got to understand that for years that that's what it was called. Now it's going to be at Calder Plaza, so it's not that far from there, and it's going to be in a better place. There's going to be more space. We're going to have fun. The weather looks like it's going to be great. I think it's going to be a little bit windy or breezy or something like that, so hold down the tent.

02:36:18 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 1:

You might see a sprinkle or two, but it's going to be warm. Who cares?

02:36:21 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 2:

I looked at the forecast, and it says rain, but when I scrolled my little map thing around, it said it was like later in the evening, possibly.

02:36:31 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so we're good.

02:36:32 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 2:

So I think we might be maybe okay. We're good. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. We'll grab a winner, and then, Lydia, when we come back here in a second, I want to do a shout-out to the great people that put together that ice luge, that Mojo in the Morning drink-off-my-tongue ice luge that we have. So let's talk to them, too, okay? We'll be back with more Mojo in the Morning. Do not go anywhere. Shannon's dirty, and you going to Irish and I own you next.

02:37:06 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Can bars start doing sad hour? It's like happy hour, but drinks are even cheaper. And it's okay to cry a little.

02:37:13 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:37:15 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 2:

You know what a leprechaun is?

02:37:17 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 1:

A leprechaun, yeah. Let's make out before you throw up. Happy St. Paddy's Day from Mojo in the Morning.

02:37:24 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 2:

All right, Irish on Ionia this weekend. Sean is going to be going. Sean, and you're going to be driving all the way from Toledo to come with us. How are you, Sean? I am doing great. I love this. You're going to get VIP tickets, hang out with the Mojo in the Morning show. Irish off Ionia is going to be at Calder Plaza. Have you ever been to Grand Rapids before? I have, yes. It's beautiful. Yeah. Stay the night. Make sure you get a good hotel, okay?

02:37:52 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

I got one question for you. Yeah. Can you be the one to call my wife and break her the news that she's canceling her girls' night out?

02:38:02 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you just bring some buddies? Let her have her girls' night out because those are important. And why don't you bring some buddies?

02:38:08 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 4:

She wouldn't miss us for the world. Really?

02:38:11 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, I can appreciate that.

02:38:12 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 2:

Do you think she would say yes?

02:38:15 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, absolutely. He told me that the only way we were going is if I won. All right, so hold on. We got to call her.

02:38:21 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, get the information. Sean, we're going to call her right now. Hold on one second. Real quick, while we do this, I'd like to say thank you and hello to Randy Finch. Randy made the luge, the ice luge that has my face and a tongue that is, I don't even know how long that is. But, Randy, are you there? I am. Randy, you have outdone yourself, man. That was unbelievable.

02:38:47 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, somebody told me the tongue was actual size, but I don't know.

02:38:51 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I will say this to you. Maybe people will find out. Maybe they'll actually see it. I'll be right next. I will tell you this. I will not put my tongue on that ice luge because a couple of, was it a year ago or two years ago? I can't remember. They all move into each other. Mike and I were there, and we were taking a picture, and I tried it. I got stuck like the kid in a Christmas story.

02:39:13 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 3:

It was not good. Oh, my God. Adult Christmas story. Yeah.

02:39:19 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 2:

Was it last year that it snowed like crazy, or was it the year before?

02:39:22 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 3:

Year before.

02:39:23 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 2:

It was the year before? Yeah. Yeah, that was the year that it happened. Oh, my God, it was so damn cold out.

02:39:29 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

It'll be nice this year. You won't have to prop that prop plumb, right?

02:39:33 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be 60s. It's so nice, right? Yeah. Oh, man. Tell everybody where you got this talent to be able to do this, you know, carving the ice like this.

02:39:43 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

I failed at everything else. All that was left. No, it was great. I was a chef for a number of years and worked my way up the ladder, and I just fell in love with the ice skeleton and book off. And now we do it for graduation parties, birthday parties, all kinds of different fun.

02:40:00 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 5:

Shout out your business, because this is awesome.

02:40:02 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 3:

So it's Ice Guru. Iceguru.com is the easiest way to find it. I-C-E-G-U-R-U. And we do everything for ice sculptures, photo booths, and stuff like that. But the ice has always been our big deal. And we love the opportunity to do some fun stuff like this.

02:40:19 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 5:

Man, thank you for what you did. It's awesome. It's going to be a fun time on Saturday. I hope to be able to raise a glass with you. Oh, absolutely. I'm down, man. For sure. Thanks, Randy. Appreciate you so much, man. Thanks for going on with us. Oh, my pleasure. Have a great day. Have an awesome day. Thank you to everybody in West Michigan. We're looking forward to seeing everybody Saturday. Hold on. Sean is on with us from Toledo. And, Sean, I think we got Holly on the phone here. Holly, are you there?

02:40:46 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:40:47 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 5:

Holly, it's Mojo. Shannon, Megan, Kev. Hi, Holly.

02:40:50 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 4:

Morning.

02:40:52 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 5:

Hi. We understand that you have a girls' night out on Saturday night.

02:40:57 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 3:

02:41:17 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 1:

that a good he would i told him that i couldn't cancel my plans unless he won the ticket

02:41:24 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 5:

He won. He did it. He did it all himself. You got to call him cancel. Yes. You're not going to be mad. Don't be mad.

02:41:38 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 2:

She's like, I really wanted to go on my girl night now. I'm telling you, you need to bring some dudes.

02:41:43 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 5:

We'll make it more fun, or you can tell Sean to go F himself, and he can hang out with us. And we'll have our own girls' night, Sean.

02:41:52 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 2:

Why don't you bring all the girls?

02:41:54 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a great idea.

02:41:55 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 2:

Screw him. Just let it be you and all the girls.

02:41:58 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, see if they want to go. This will be a girl's day out. Come on, Sean.

02:42:01 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 2:

Sean, like, I'm the one that called in and was like,

02:42:03 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 1:

wait, where were you supposed to go out? I think we were going to go to, like, La Fiesta and Mommy and, like, get dinner and drink. Girl, this is going to be so much more fun. Yeah, come on. Go to La Fiesta. I mean, no need to you, but. You can do that anytime.

02:42:16 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

02:42:18 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 5:

All right. You make the decision on this one. Otherwise, Sean, we're going to see you there, okay?

02:42:23 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 2:

Go out, Mommy. Conan Street is all messed up.

02:42:26 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, guys.

02:42:26 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

Here she goes with her Ohio mention. He's trying to help us. He's trying to help us.

02:42:32 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 5:

All right. We want to give you some tickets to go see the sold-out Tate McRae concert. Here you go. Be the correct texter. I don't even know if there is a correct texter. But text TATE to 95500, standard text, and data rates do apply. Text TATE, T-A-T-E, to 95500, and you could be going to the sold-out Tate McRae concert.

02:42:54 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:42:57 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, what do you got, Shannon?

02:43:00 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 2:

President Trump got himself a new Tesla yesterday, even though he can't drive it, but I think this was a show of his support for Elon Musk. Got to pick from five Teslas that were brought out onto the White House driveway.

02:43:13 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to make a statement. I'm going to buy one. Now, here's the bad news. I'm not allowed to drive Because I haven't driven a car in a long time, and I love to drive cars, but I'm going to have it at the White House, and I'm going to let my staff use it, I'm going to let people at the place use it, and they all are all excited about it.

02:43:31 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that, honestly, he's driven a car in forever? There's no way.

02:43:34 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

No, but he can't. Well, he said that. You can't drive. He said he hasn't driven it forever.

02:43:37 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 5:

As president, but he's rich. He's not driving. He's got people driving. He drives maybe a golf cart on his golf cart.

02:43:44 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I think he picked a red one, but he said he hopes his purchase will boost Tesla, obviously in the news for struggling with not great sales and declining stock prices.

02:43:55 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 1:

President Trump wrote the art of the deal. Is there any kind of room for negotiating here? Let me answer that.

02:44:00 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 4:

I know you give me a discount, but honestly, I don't want to ask for one. I'm president, and so I want to pay full price.

02:44:07 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Jay-Z's attorney just made an appearance on Good Morning America. Now, this all goes back to that woman who said she was 13 years old when Jay-Z and Diddy sexually assaulted her at an MTV VMAs after party way back in the year 2000. She is heard on a recording agreeing that Jay-Z did not assault her and saying her lawyer, Tony Busby, pushed her to sue Jay-Z. That woman's lawsuit against Jay-Z and Diddy has since been withdrawn with prejudice, meaning it cannot be revived. But here's Jay-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, talking about this.

02:44:44 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

This morning, the woman who said she was 13 when Sean Jay-Z Carter and Sean Diddy Combs sexually assaulted her after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards is heard talking to private investigators about her claim and agreeing that Jay-Z did not assault her.

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 6:

her but jay-z was you saying he was definitely there but he had no part in it or he was just

02:45:05 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 4:

he was there he was just there but he didn't have anything to do with the any sexual acts

02:45:11 - 02:45:22 | Speaker 7:

towards you it was strictly yeah the woman is also heard saying her lawyer put her up to suing one of the world's most recognizable stars he was the one who kind of pushed me towards going

02:45:22 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 2:

forward with him with jay-z shut the dog up oh my god do you know why no abc news exclusively

02:45:32 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 7:

obtained a minute-long excerpt of the recording made days after the woman identified as jane doe permanently dropped her lawsuit against both carter and combs last month the people around

02:45:42 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 6:

mr carter wanted to know what happened behind closed doors and so they asked for her to be interviewed the interview occurred and the tape speaks for itself she says in no uncertain terms Mr. Carter did not do this. It is effectively a lie. And the only reason Mr. Carter is even involved in this is because she was pushed to involve him, pushed to include him by a lawyer.

02:46:02 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 7:

The accuser's lawyer, Tony Busby, called it a blatant lie that he pushed Jane Doe to sue Jay-Z. And he sent us this recording of a phone call with his client.

02:46:11 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 2:

They say that they have you on tape denying that Jay-Z assaulted you. Is that true? No. No. I don't. I've never said that. OK. Did they also say that you told them and they have it on tape that that I, Tony Busby, told you to like came up with this plan and told you to say that Jay-Z assaulted you so you would get more money?

02:46:41 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 7:

No. Jane Doe said in a court filing, although I ultimately chose not to pursue them, I stand by my claims. She says in a sworn declaration that she felt intimidated and terrified at being confronted by these two individuals on my doorstep. Was she coerced in any way?

02:47:02 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 6:

Of course not. They did not coerce her, promise or threaten her in any way, shape or form. She voluntarily met, spoke to them, and she told them her truth, which was under no circumstances did Mr. Carter do this. And number two, the only reason he's even involved in this is she was pushed to introduce him by a lawyer.

02:47:23 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 7:

Your clients know Jane Doe?

02:47:26 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 6:

No. Ever met her? Mr. Carter doesn't know Jane Doe, never met Jane Doe. There's no truth to any of this.

02:47:33 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. So what's the story? Shakedown. What is going on? This is like a movie.

02:47:39 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 4:

Did any of you guys watch Unbelievable on Netflix? What's that about? It's one season and it's about a woman going through the process of what it's like after you've been sexually assaulted. And I'm not saying that's the case here, right? Like I have no idea. This is very interesting to me. I wonder how it'll play out long term. But it's about how why some people might say, no, that didn't happen after it did happen or why they're believable or why they're not believable or what happens when a lawyer gets involved or what happens when you go to court. And it's changed my perspective on watching or hearing all of these cases and just being like, you don't, we don't have all the information. It's so interesting.

02:48:19 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 5:

Do you think it would be equally interesting if this thing just went away compared to what they're doing, which is they're suing her?

02:48:27 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 3:

Now they're counter suing.

02:48:27 - 02:48:41 | Speaker 5:

So I think the, because usually anybody that's the accused just makes it go away and then moves on and hopes that everybody forgets about it. It's very rare, though, that you see them sue the person for what they claim to be the lie. We need more to.

02:48:43 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 4:

I think it's just hard to prove both sides.

02:48:46 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 3:

I think it's super hard to prove. Especially when she's on two different recordings contradicting herself. Right. Right. Yeah. Okay, Dwayne Wade is opening up. Oh, my goodness gracious. This is the last Sturdy Chan. Opening up about what the changes in his body that he noticed prior to being diagnosed with kidney cancer, I had no idea. He's sharing an update as well, which I'll get into this. Do you guys know the story about how he found it in the first place? No. His dad had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. And so he made an appointment to go see his doctor. He was 40 years old. And he's like, I just want to get a checkup for my own peace of mind. And so during his appointment, his doctor was like asking him a bunch of questions. And he's like, you know, yeah, I do have a little bit of a stomach pain and I do pee kind of funny. Like when I pee, it's just a very slow, very weak stream. They did a bunch of tests and found out that he had kidney cancer.

02:49:40 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 1:

I want to make sure that I live a long life. Right. And I think the life was taken out of me a little bit when I found out about this. I was kind of, you know, I'm normally up and I'm out and I'm smiling. And, you know, it kind of took away my life a little bit because I started thinking about the worst.

02:49:55 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yeah, he credited his wife and his Gabrielle Union and his family.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 4:

family for sticking by his side through the whole thing. The recovery process for them to see me

02:50:03 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 1:

weak, not being able to walk, not being able to stand. It was tough. It was tough for Zaire. It was tough for my wife. It was tough for my family and all my friends to see me in that capacity, but they don't know in that moment that they gave me so much strength that I didn't know that, you know, was capable of someone on the outside giving because I know this happens a lot. You go

02:50:21 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 4:

to the doctor for one thing and you walk away with a diagnosis like that. It's just crazy.

02:50:24 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 2:

I always find this to be amazing. And I also find it to be amazing when somebody takes a picture or is on like a TV news person's on TV and they see something in the picture or they see a lump, you know, from watching them on television.

02:50:38 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that happens.

02:50:38 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 2:

It's amazing.

02:50:39 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 5:

A lot. And lastly, the Fort Worth Police Department is hiring. It doesn't mean anything to any of us here, but they released a great recruitment video that's going viral. Takes aim at their rival police department, also trying to get their hands on new recruits.

02:50:55 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 6:

Numbers don't lie. Why you throwing up a boy? Last time I checked it too. 14 of yours. Whop, whop, whop, whop, whop from the big D. Whop, whop, whop, whop, whop from now the little D. What you thinking, little D? Aren't you tired every time we open up and fill up when we hire?

02:51:11 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 5:

I know the Detroit Police Department is hiring. I am challenging you. They not like us.

02:51:16 - 02:51:41 | Speaker 2:

They not like us. Please don't do this. Come on. Come on. You're going to be out, Kevin. You're going to be there on Saturday morning. I'm challenging you. We not going to do this. Come on. I don't know if I like you. Join Detroit's Finest dot org if you would like to be part of the Detroit Police Department. That is wild that there's such a need for police officers across the country. Yeah, that they're all looking for people to be cops.

02:51:41 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 5:

02:52:08 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:52:10 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 2:

Live. Mojo in the Morning. I mean, I would like all of us to band together as one big radio show that has this little bullhorn called The Microphone. And I would like us to stand up for an injustice that is out there, an injustice that is gone way too long, and an injustice that is little talked about because of the embarrassment that may surround it.

02:52:45 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know if I'm on board until you say what it is yet.

02:52:47 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, first off, let me say this to you. You're a woman and you're somebody that it doesn't affect, but it does affect you because you've got some very nice guys in your life that need your help. Yes. Oh, man, man that need your help.

02:53:01 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Sorry. I took that very wrong.

02:53:03 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 2:

And I want you, no, no, you got one guy in your life, but this one guy in your life, you've got to make sure that you, you know, keep a smile on his face. All right. This is the injustice. why is it that there are tons of female sexual devices for your pleasure ladies out there but for guys there's no options at all that's not true or little very little and i'm i'm straight guys for straight guys because here's the deal if you're if you are a gay man you have some devices But for straight guys, there's not many devices. There's basically, let me, first off, have you been shopping for them lately? I've tried to, and I can't shop for them.

02:53:51 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm trying to ask, what are devices that are strictly for gay men that are not for straight men?

02:53:58 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, there's like things, well, I'm not going to, I don't know if I necessarily do anything to my rectum, my back size. I'm not doing it. Some guys might, I don't do it. I'm sure that, you know, listen, I know that I have a gay son. He may do it, and I'm sure he does. I hope he's enjoying it. I don't know if his dad is doing it. But let me explain mine. I have gone, and I've even, you know, thought of going into Cirilla's, which they're a fine advertiser right now. Thank you to those guys. Send some product. But I've gone to stores, and I've gone online, and I've looked at these things that are out there for guys and every woman has their favorite toy or favorite toys you guys might have many of them for guys and i talked to my guy friends about this all there is is pocket peas and the one thing about pocket peas every pocket pea looks like a device that will mutilate yourself every every one of these things looks like a device that you would Thank you.

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 1:

It literally looks like a backwards lightsaber that if you put it near your privates, you're going to cut yourself up.

02:55:07 - 02:55:08 | Speaker 2:

I think they're soft, though.

02:55:08 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't care how soft they are. The way that they look, too, are horrible. And then any other device that looks like it might be interesting.

02:55:15 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

A ring.

02:55:16 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 1:

I don't know the ring. A C ring. The Gawg Gawg flashlight. But here's the problem, though, Shin, with the rings. The rings require somebody to be with you. You know what I mean? Like you're looking for, don't you use your device when you're by yourself a lot of times?

02:55:34 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 3:

No, I actually, no. The answer is truly no, not right now. Well, but in the past, yes. In the past, yes. Yes. Yes. Now it is a shared pleasure device.

02:55:44 - 02:56:00 | Speaker 1:

So it's okay. Which is good. That's good. But I feel like there are, you know, there are lack of stuff that's out there. That's a fact. Megan, if you know of any of the great places that I can go look, tell me. because you seem like you're not on board with me and my protests that I'm doing right now.

02:56:00 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think you should always advocate for more options. I'm not mad at that. I just, there's more options, I think, than you think.

02:56:07 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 1:

Tell me. Tell me which ones you got. Which ones, tell me where I can go to.

02:56:11 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 2:

I was just on Surreal's site. They have like 300 products just for men. For 300? Something like that. This is hard time. Look how fast Kev went to his computer. 300 is crazy. I don't buy it. But I'm saying, you remember with that lady who we had on the show a while ago, and she sent over the Tickle My Pickle book. Yeah. When she sent over the box of goodies, I don't know if there was one option in there that was specifically designed for men's pleasure.

02:56:33 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 1:

There was. We took it home and it didn't work. No, it was not. No, it was the flashlight.

02:56:41 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 3:

I am no expert in sex toys by any means, but I would venture to say that there are more, someone's throat just gurgled, there are more options for women because there are more areas of pleasure for women.

02:56:56 - 02:57:00 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean by that? Guys have similar areas.

02:57:00 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 4:

Because we could do here, here, here. I get pleasured up there. Here. There's a lot. Yeah. But I'm just saying I think there are more. Are we still on camera, by the way?

02:57:09 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Are we still on? Here, here, here. Oh, that's great. We're still on. I know Tony walks by. Like a diagram.

02:57:14 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 3:

No, but I do think that there's more to work with.

02:57:18 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 1:

There's more places to go to. Would you like a full-on doll? You know, I thought about that. I just don't know how Chelsea would take it if all of a sudden she gets my Amazon order and opens it up. I want one. I told her that I wanted one that looks just like her. That is so weird. You can get that done. Why? You can buy molds. Why do you think that would be weird? Don't you think it would be worse if I...

02:57:38 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 3:

I am yucking and yom, and I fully admit, I don't know, because you have her. This boy out of stock.

02:57:43 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that it would be weirder or worse if I had it looking like somebody else? Like, I think that would not be good.

02:57:50 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 3:

No, I think no and no.

02:57:52 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 1:

Jen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Are you on board with my protest that I have?

02:57:57 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 7:

No, sir. I'm sorry to tell you this, but I'm just here to answer your question as to why there are more toys for us than you guys.

02:58:03 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes, go ahead. Explain, because it's a woman's world.

02:58:07 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you can think so? That's a whole nother show, Mojo. But this particular issue is because you fellas can't find the spot with a flashlight.

02:58:18 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so it's our fault that these guys came up with it. You're probably right.

02:58:24 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay. And the reason that we don't need or you guys don't have as many toys is because if we even move a little bit, you all become real minute men, and then we need those toys.

02:58:33 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, you're right. That is kind of true, too. But still, I wonder who the designers are of these things. I think the guys designed the women's toys. they're like oh I can design it but why do they not design something for themselves well then I think that's a question you have

02:58:53 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 7:

to answer yourself and you have a son in school tell him to go in that direction

02:58:57 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 1:

would that be fun Luke you have not chosen a major yet I would like you to choose the major of sex toys for men

02:59:07 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 3:

he would probably be a millionaire

02:59:10 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 1:

it would be Chelsea would be so proud

02:59:13 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 6:

another son fulfilling your dreams

02:59:16 - 02:59:23 | Speaker 1:

I would love that Jen question for you do you think it's weird that I would like to buy a sex doll that looks like my wife

02:59:23 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 7:

I do not think it's weird I just think that it's going to be a failed mission buddy she's not going to go for that

02:59:30 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 1:

she's not into it she already told me I told her I said I'm going to try to find one that looks just like you or is made after you and she was not

02:59:38 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 6:

do you really want her to know what you want to do to her because that's what's going to happen if you get a doll like that.

02:59:45 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, shouldn't she figure that out or shouldn't she know that? I think every woman should know what their guy wants to do.

02:59:52 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 7:

But you need to decide how she's going to react to that. Only you know, buddy.

02:59:56 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't it be funny if I bought it and just had it?

03:00:00 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 6:

watch television with me and passive-aggressive but very funny we know we're gonna no i'm not

03:00:08 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 3:

passive-aggressive i enjoy watching tv with my wife we'll be watching real housewives together uh what's going on melissa how you doing good what's going on we're talking about this new mission that i'm on to try to get men pleasure well i will tell you i'm a bit of a

03:00:25 - 03:00:51 | Speaker 6:

on a sewer um i have a nice collection but then you guys are so you have it so much more efficient because all of your equipment is outside of the body i think okay and so you guys you guys you got all kinds of flavors and colors of pies holes everywhere and walls fences like women actually put effort in yeah i think i i think you guys totally have the way to do it outside of women

03:00:51 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 3:

But there are, I've noticed in, Megan showed that there's 300 devices on there. The problem is they're all the same device. I was just about to say that.

03:01:00 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 5:

There's a lot of similarities, but I would say that's the same thing for women.

03:01:05 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. I feel like you guys, though, have like some that are small, some that are big, some that are tall, some that are, you know.

03:01:12 - 03:01:14 | Speaker 5:

I mean, but that's what like this is. They're kind of crazy.

03:01:14 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 3:

Some that you can actually put in the wall if you want to. Are you into bondage? Nah, I'm not into that stuff.

03:01:19 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to. What about puppy play? Well, maybe you should be. It would expand your options. I would like to. Open up those filters.

03:01:25 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I would like, though? I would like to, if I got anything, I would like it to also double as something else in my house so that if I forget to get rid of it when somebody comes over, they can go, oh, that's a really nice nightstand.

03:01:36 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? That's this bondage. You get this. I don't know if I can say this. They got a wheel that looks like it could double as a massage tool.

03:01:42 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow. A wheel. Yeah. I could put my drink right on there. What's going on, Brian? How you doing?

03:01:48 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 2:

mojo mojo mojo yes don't be don't be so scared of the back door you haven't had okay you haven't had fun until you've let your wife pay i'm bad listen i guess i haven't had fun then brian

03:02:04 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 3:

um but i he's still talking he's still there thanks brian i appreciate your phone call hi

03:02:11 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 1:

morgan what's going on hey before i get to hear my comment i have to say i love it you went dr seuss a minute ago some that are tall some that are small some that go on the wall thank you appreciate it i want to say i'm with you on this one like all of the toys for men along the similar line right they're all kind of weird but women have like rose buds and all these cool little things you need to make more things like that for the men specific little

03:02:39 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 5:

guys but what like truly then what do you want because i i hate to be this person but this is It's like the biggest industry. So if it can be made and people would buy it, it would be out there.

03:02:52 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know what we do. That's true.

03:02:55 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what y'all want.

03:02:57 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 3:

I would like it, the auto companies. If you're listening, you're an auto executive. I would like the auto executives to listen and put something in a car.

03:03:06 - 03:03:13 | Speaker 5:

And quite frankly, I think all of you guys should be a little bit more grateful because the price of your products are way cheaper than the price of ours.

03:03:13 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what are the price differences? I've looked at the prices of women's products.

03:03:18 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 4:

You can get this Vortex Extreme 360 for $60.

03:03:21 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

Do you know some of the female products are in the hundreds? Yes.

03:03:25 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 3:

See, I would rather trust $100 plus than $60.

03:03:29 - 03:03:33 | Speaker 5:

Like $200, $300 plus. Like a cheap one starts at like $120.

03:03:33 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, how much do some of the men's expensive ones?

03:03:36 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, look, this is a $200 one. That is? Yeah, this is a remote control.

03:03:40 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 5:

This one's $47, $12, $60. That's a little bit pricier. $31 is much cheaper for you.

03:03:48 - 03:03:49 | Speaker 3:

Men are more cost-effective.

03:03:50 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 1:

Don't you love that I'm letting you do all the Googling and shop-ling? Because I don't want Wes to see my computer and be like, ooh.

03:03:56 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 3:

You ready for this?

03:03:57 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm on a work computer.

03:04:00 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Nina. I just got a text from somebody saying, finally, a topic that matters. What's going on, Nina? Hi, Nina. Is that you, Nina?

03:04:12 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 2:

Nina.

03:04:12 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 3:

this is a person that said something about uh full-blown fake booties uh are you is this a real human being on the phone with us or are you ai what's going on yeah what's up what's up

03:04:25 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 7:

on the phone yeah we're talking to you what's up yeah there's a fake booty that you can get different sides of the booties and it looks like the end of a sofa armrest and you like it's strong

03:04:37 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 3:

enough where men can like ride the booty do you know do you have somebody that has this or do you

03:04:42 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 7:

know somebody that owns this i see it's on in the stores i saw it when i go to the stores with my friends and i didn't know they had it and it's hard enough for the guy can like yep quick question

03:04:53 - 03:05:03 | Speaker 3:

for you would it be weird if you went to a guy's house and saw that he had a fake booty just sitting there I don't know. I had a friend who wasn't ashamed of it. He said he loved it.

03:05:03 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay. You're thinking about that?

03:05:07 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 3:

It's like in a kneeling position.

03:05:09 - 03:05:16 | Speaker 1:

I get it, but I understand that. But is it weird if you walk into a guy's house and he's got like that sitting next to his remote control?

03:05:16 - 03:05:28 | Speaker 3:

I'd rather a guy take care of himself. Well, I don't know if he had it like that, but he just showed everyone one night and we were like, I didn't even know those existed. And he's like, yeah, and it's very strong. It holds him up.

03:05:28 - 03:05:31 | Speaker 1:

Is he a single man or is he in a relationship?

03:05:32 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 3:

Single man.

03:05:34 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay. That's the problem, though. I always said this. If AI took over where you could make an AI girlfriend, would guys stop dating? Would it all of a sudden make it even worse as far as dating is concerned? I'm sure that would happen. Crystal, what's up?

03:05:49 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 5:

That's so sad. It is so incredibly sad to be like, well, if robots existed and just did what they wanted, then we wouldn't need you. It's so weird to me that the lack of human connection is just somebody to do something that I want

03:06:05 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 1:

them to do. It's the phone. It's screwed everybody up. Nobody wants to talk anymore. What's going on, Crystal?

03:06:11 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey.

03:06:15 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 1:

We finally have a topic

03:06:17 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 4:

that Crystal can't... My son calls every day. He tells me every day to call you guys. Wait a second.

03:06:21 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 1:

You're not going to tell your son that you called for this topic,

03:06:23 - 03:06:36 | Speaker 4:

are you? No, I'm not. I'm actually, I called, what are you actually looking for? You want a pocket tee that looks like, no, no, no, no, I don't know what I'm saying is

03:06:36 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 1:

it's not necessarily that. It's just that, you know, women have all kinds of fun things. And I look at the number of devices that are out there, which by the way, this is really weird. How old is your son? How old is your son?

03:06:47 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 4:

So like you said, they just come in different sizes and shapes, just like the pocket tees.

03:06:51 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. How old is your son? and shapes. He's going to be 13. Your son is 13 years old, and he listens every day wanting you to call, and you just called us for this topic. Yes. You're not playing him this podcast, are you?

03:07:05 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you got to lie today. No, no, no. He will never hear this. How many devices does

03:07:10 - 03:07:16 | Speaker 1:

your 13-year-old son's mom have? Two. And what is the names of your devices?

03:07:16 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 4:

um basics i got the regular one that you can put in your panties okay all right and does and then

03:07:28 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 1:

i got one that i just say the names of them i don't need i don't need to know what you don't

03:07:31 - 03:07:35 | Speaker 4:

know the names i don't know what the names of them okay because everybody has the names and

03:07:35 - 03:07:43 | Speaker 1:

everybody who tells all the women tell each other i've got the uh apex 2040 no apex is the name of

03:07:43 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 5:

the apartment complex i'm doing a commercial for in a second can i give you the names of two different movies i need you to watch yes lars and the real girl is the first one i need you to start with that all right don't watch these out of order and then the next one is ex-mahina watch

03:07:56 - 03:08:03 | Speaker 1:

both those movies ex-mahina is that like ex-mahina is that like x about ai by the way i'm still is

03:08:03 - 03:08:09 | Speaker 5:

it about about men seeking companionship from these am i going to be lonely afterwards and

03:08:09 - 03:08:10 | Speaker 1:

Megan may feel sad.

03:08:11 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 5:

The first one's going to make you a little sad. Second one's going to freak you out, make you want to destroy all robots. Oh, really? Okay.

03:08:16 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm still tripping that her son asked her to call. She said, yo. She wants to call? If it's true that you are what you eat, Mojo must have been eating sexy beef this morning. It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning. All right, time now for second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out this morning here. Paige went out on a date with a guy by the name of Nathan and now is not getting called back. And Paige, how did you guys meet?

03:08:53 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 2:

We met at a bar. Okay.

03:08:55 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 1:

And you guys went out just once or did you have a couple of times together?

03:09:00 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 2:

No, we just had our first date at a restaurant and it was going really well. and we went out for ice cream it was really nice okay it was sweet it's kind of cute and now he's

03:09:11 - 03:09:15 | Speaker 1:

not calling you back did you sense anything that happened when you guys were out together that

03:09:15 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 2:

might have gone wrong well no so in what i thought it was going well and the only thing that i can think of maybe i was a little bit too flirty okay but i don't know uh well we'll find out

03:09:31 - 03:09:38 | Speaker 1:

Nathan is on the phone with us right now. Nathan, will you say hello to Paige? Hello.

03:09:40 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

03:09:42 - 03:09:54 | Speaker 1:

Nathan, Paige was worried that she was just a little too flirty with you. Is there something that is going on right now that's making you not call her? Or is it just a misunderstanding? You're busy and what's happening?

03:09:57 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's something going on for sure. that

03:10:00 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 5:

kind of made me a little uncomfortable and what is that i don't know she just wasn't very up front about something that i don't know i kind of think is a big deal what was it well she's just super secretive about her job like she told me she was a server and wouldn't tell me where she worked or anything like that so at first it was just kind of weird but it was like you know whatever we just met so i didn't think much of it but what does anyway what does she do well well comes out like my all right all right sorry i'm gonna

03:10:41 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 2:

um what what do you do page i i mean i'm i i'm a dancer at

03:10:50 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 7:

a place you don't have to mention the name of the place uh you're a dancer yeah like at a strip club

03:10:58 - 03:11:08 | Speaker 2:

it's yeah okay but it's it's it's literally just a job it makes great money how did you find out

03:11:08 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 7:

about this uh nathan did she tell you this you said she was secretive she was a server

03:11:16 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she told me she was a server at a restaurant. And then some of my friends were at the club she worked at and then sent me pictures of her dancing on the pole.

03:11:26 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 7:

So, really? First off, they should be kicked out for taking a picture instead of a strip club. Secondly, why are you... Oh, you can't pull out phones and take pictures in a strip club.

03:11:36 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 6:

Really? No. That's not true.

03:11:38 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 7:

No, you cannot take pictures.

03:11:39 - 03:11:42 | Speaker 6:

I've been seeing all the videos in a strip club. You can't. You're not supposed to. Oh. You'll get kicked out for it.

03:11:42 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 7:

Secondly, why would your friends make it that big of a deal? And thirdly, Paige, why are you ashamed of this? Why would you not tell?

03:11:53 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 2:

I just didn't think that was something to mention, maybe on a very first date.

03:11:58 - 03:11:58 | Speaker 7:

Okay, I get it.

03:11:58 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 2:

That's fair.

03:11:59 - 03:12:11 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. So why do you feel, so she said she's a server. You know what? She technically probably is serving. You know what I mean? But why are you so bent up about that, Nathan?

03:12:12 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 5:

uh i don't know to me it's just kind of gross honestly like first of all it was the line and second of all it's like i don't know i don't want to be with someone who's a dancer you know you know dancing with a bunch of dudes all night very valid point so i totally understand where

03:12:30 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 7:

he's coming from so when you say it's gross you're saying that she's she's dancing for a living what you're not saying is that it's gross that she lied to you about this or you feel like she

03:12:41 - 03:12:55 | Speaker 4:

idea i don't feel like that that's what happens yeah i was on your side because you can just say i'm not into that until you said she was gross for doing it and now i'm like yeah i think she

03:12:55 - 03:13:14 | Speaker 3:

wins out on this one i just think that that i don't know what's calling her gross but i i think that that is a very um that is one of those professions that is very polarizing and there There are people, and I'm including myself here, I would not be able to deal with the person that I was dating having that as their job.

03:13:14 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 6:

Why do you have to hide that, though? Like, I don't like the fact that she feels self-conscious enough that it's not something that she wants to talk about.

03:13:22 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 4:

She just said on the first date. Yeah, but why not? I think it's a lot like kids. People don't share that they have kids on the first date. And I disagree with that. I do, too. I do, too. But I understand why some people do it, because they want you to know me first before you just say no. I don't like it.

03:13:39 - 03:13:49 | Speaker 7:

Are there any other listeners that lie about their occupation or lie about, you know, something that they don't tell people until they're on a couple of dates, kind of like what Paige is doing here? Sam, what did you want to say?

03:13:50 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, hi. I think the man is warranted in how he feels, you know? I think that if, you know, if he is a great guy and I think there's not a lot of great guys out there, But if she, her choice of career, might have just lost her out on a good catch. I'm not sure.

03:14:11 - 03:14:12 | Speaker 7:

Would you date a stripper?

03:14:14 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm a great guy, and no, I would not.

03:14:20 - 03:14:27 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Why not, though? Yeah, I hung up with him because I was going to pick up somebody who is a stripper.

03:14:27 - 03:14:38 | Speaker 6:

Would that bother you? I don't think so. But, I mean, it's tough to say what you would do unless, you know, you're into your industry. Would you tell your mom what she did for a living? I'm not sure if my mom would enjoy that.

03:14:39 - 03:14:49 | Speaker 7:

No. Chelsea, you are a dancer. I got to be careful because of no longer strippers. They're dancers. You're a dancer. Your thoughts on this, Chelsea?

03:14:50 - 03:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm not a dancer.

03:14:51 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, it says I'm a dancer.

03:14:53 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I like dancers. Oh. Oh, listen, I'm all for it. Oh, okay. I can't say that.

03:15:00 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 1:

I have not had fun times with a stripper before or a dancer, so I'm not discriminating, okay? It's okay if that's what she wants to do. It's also okay if somebody doesn't want to date somebody who is an exotic dancer or in that type of field. There's nothing wrong with not wanting to be in a relationship with someone who does that. It's a personal preference. I also understand that she wants to have privacy, but at the same time, if you're dating for the end goal, it's not necessarily fair to take the opportunity away from him to make a decision about something like that before making a connection because how do we know that she you know they have a great connection and she might say oh my god i can't tell i'm going to lose him and how long is this lie going to continue before she does tell him the truth i understand her i understand him but she definitely needs to give him the opportunity to make that decision for himself is it easy for

03:15:56 - 03:16:02 | Speaker 4:

you to pick up strippers at strip clubs because you're a woman oh they love it when girls go they

03:16:02 - 03:16:39 | Speaker 1:

love it my ex-boyfriend was so pissed off really what was he upset about oh yeah he wanted the attention because i was getting attention yeah i was getting attention and he wasn't and when he tried to get in our face they pushed him away so no they love it when the girls come and hang out and have fun and it's not even always a sexual thing it's just it's fun for them to see women supporting other women it's just it's it's fun for them it's fun for us too if you don't like it that's fine that's totally fine but if you're someone who does or you do it you have to kind of own that she should have gone with go-go dancer if she was going to lie about it yeah just say

03:16:39 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 4:

that instead of a uh server what's up carmen hi good morning guys good morning morning um he said

03:16:47 - 03:16:52 | Speaker 5:

it's gross but his friends go there i don't get that does that mean they're gross and aren't you who you hang out with?

03:16:53 - 03:17:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, do you ever go to strip clubs, Nathan? I mean, yeah, and sorry. I didn't say she was gross. I just said I would feel gross being with a dancer. How does that change what you just said? And by the way, how is that? To me, it's different. You go to strip clubs still? I'm not judging somebody for what they're doing. I just don't want to be with them. Like, there's definitely a difference to me. All right. Kim, you are a stripper, unlike the caller I just thought was a stripper. Is that right?

03:17:25 - 03:17:26 | Speaker 3:

Dancer, bro.

03:17:27 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 4:

You're what's that?

03:17:29 - 03:17:30 | Speaker 5:

I'm a dancer.

03:17:31 - 03:17:47 | Speaker 4:

You're a dancer. Okay, yes. When did they change the name of strippers and dancers? They've been changed, bro. When? Why? This is like over a decade ago. Why did they change it? Explain it to me. Because they can. I understand, but what was offensive about saying stripper?

03:17:47 - 03:17:49 | Speaker 2:

Doesn't T-Pain have to change the name of his song, then?

03:17:49 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 4:

It's not about the T-Pain personally. I don't care. T-Pain's in the wrong.

03:17:53 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 5:

When I go off a date with somebody, the very first thing, I tell them before we go out. Because I don't want to waste anybody's time, right? No reason to waste anybody's time. And I believe being up front. Why not? What's the worst thing that's going to happen if you're not going to go to a second date? But at least you're honest.

03:18:13 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 4:

So talk to Paige right now. Tell Paige what she should be doing. Paige, this is Kim the Dancer.

03:18:18 - 03:18:19 | Speaker 5:

Move on.

03:18:20 - 03:18:20 | Speaker 4:

Move on.

03:18:21 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Kim the Dancer. Move on because it's not worth it. You're probably an awesome person and it's your job and I know it's your job. But somebody out there for you and that's how it goes.

03:18:35 - 03:18:47 | Speaker 3:

Is this a common thing? Is this a common thing that you've dealt with or that other women in the locker room, I don't know what y'all call it, have dealt with is not being able to have serious relationships because of your profession?

03:18:48 - 03:18:56 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely. Then you have the guys that love it. I'm in love with a dancer, you know? Oh, she changed it. She changed the anime.

03:18:56 - 03:18:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's the AC radio version.

03:18:59 - 03:19:09 | Speaker 5:

That's the radio version, yeah. No, a lot of men don't like it. A lot of men think they like it and can handle it. So you're in a relationship. Then it's another story.

03:19:09 - 03:19:24 | Speaker 4:

I could see that. I could see where that would be tough. All right. Real quick, I want to grab a couple of these callers here because these people are not dancers, but they have occupations that they lie about. Amy, what's your occupation that you don't tell people on a first date about?

03:19:25 - 03:19:26 | Speaker 6:

Massage therapy.

03:19:27 - 03:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Why not?

03:19:29 - 03:19:38 | Speaker 6:

Because everyone always says, oh, I could use one of those or, oh, I need my shoulders rubbed. And it's just, I don't know. It's just not very appropriate.

03:19:39 - 03:19:41 | Speaker 4:

You don't want to have to bring your occupation out on a date.

03:19:41 - 03:19:53 | Speaker 2:

I feel bad for you because I feel like in every relationship you're ever going to be in, people are going to want you to rub their back. Right. Or family relationship, right? Ashley, what's your occupation that you lie about?

03:19:55 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 5:

So I'm in the military, and I don't typically tell men that I'm in the military because...

03:20:00 - 03:20:16 | Speaker 2:

You just don't know who you're going on a date with sometimes. Either they're not going to like your occupation, they could be, you know, some stalker, or, you know, they could also pose some security risk where they're in a militia or something that don't really get along with military or, you know, a target that you could tell.

03:20:17 - 03:20:27 | Speaker 7:

Interesting. That's wild. That's heavy. Because I would find that to be something that a guy would be hot over, like, you know, a man or a woman in uniform, you know?

03:20:28 - 03:20:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, not always. You get some guys that, you know, are offended because either, you know, you have a more masculine position than them or more masculine occupation than them. I was married, and it didn't work out because he couldn't handle the fact that, you know, I was a breadwinner, and he wasn't. What did he do for a living? But, yeah. He was a firefighter.

03:20:48 - 03:20:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, wow. That's how we think both of those jobs are amazing. But that's wild that he would look at yours to be more masculine than him. Well, thank you for your service. We appreciate you.

03:20:59 - 03:21:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for your support.

03:21:00 - 03:21:08 | Speaker 3:

That is happening Saturday. If you want tickets, go to irishoffionia.com. We have fun St. Patrick's Day celebration. I hate to end on a sad note, but I feel like this was such a horrible situation. But the thing I loved was the fact that we were able to give her a great Christmas. One of our break-in entering Christmas wishes from 2023. Actually, I believe the first one of 2023. Christina Dury, she was battling cancer. She was a mom. She lived her life to the fullest, had beautiful children. She had Ava, who is right around 12 years old, and Isaac, who's three years old. She passed away, and we had just heard about the loss. And we just want the entire family to know that we love them, and we're there for Ava and Isaac if there's anything that they need. But Christina was battling ovarian cancer back in 2023. we granted a wish. She had a wonderful, you know, Christmas wish that year. And we had heard good things that were going on for her. And then unfortunately she had passed. And so our prayers to her family and we hope to keep in contact with them and see if there's anything we can do for the kids and stay with the kids. They're part of our breaking and entering Christmas wish family. So please say a prayer for Christina's family. We'll see you tomorrow. Have a great day. I've 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

03:24:22 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 4:

My name is Patrick Pettway, and I am getting my Associates of Science and General Education with an emphasis in business administration. To me, it was a no-brainer. When you go out here and you're looking for funding to go back to college as a 40-year-old man, I got six people in my household. The extra money just doesn't just grow out of trees. For me to be able to be accepted through FAFSA and to have Bishop State pay for all of my tuition, not only that, but the curriculums, you know, they make it so easy to understand on their website. Like I said, I'm a 40-year-old man, so I don't use technology too much, but it was very understandable where I needed to go. It was extremely fast these past years.

03:25:00 - 03:25:10 | Speaker 2:

two years things have just moved in a total different type of way it's like its own moving entity to see things manifest the way that they do ready to make your own bishop statement visit
