Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. So happy 313 day.

00:03:29 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 6:

Let's go to Detroit.

00:03:30 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Now you're talking, brother.

00:03:32 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 7:

Yes, happy 313 day to all of those that live in our biggest listening area of Detroit, Michigan. I remember when I got my cell phone number and I wanted a 313 number so bad just to have 313 day so I could call it 313 on mine. And they said, no, we don't have any. You got two 4-8s here. You got to go to a different cell phone store. That was back in the day when you couldn't get like certain area codes. There had to be like legit. And you couldn't pick numbers out. Like nowadays, have you gotten a phone in a while or done a phone in a little bit? I've had the same numbers since 10th grade. Don't say that. I just got an Apple Watch for-

00:04:16 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 8:

Anybody who's had your number knows that it's still your number. Oh, that's all right. I just got an Apple Watch for Smith and we didn't get to pick that number.

00:04:23 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

So, I got a new phone for Chelsea's mom and dad. They're on my plan right now. And they gave me a choice. They gave me choice of numbers. I thought it was actually very nice. Yeah, they gave me like five or six or seven. They actually, the AT&T guy was very nice when he did that.

00:04:40 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 8:

You know what I noticed was crazy was when we got Smith's watch, which he was given for Christmas, they have a new area code. And I don't know why. I was like, ooh. Yes.

00:04:51 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 7:

It's kind of a weird one, too, isn't it?

00:04:53 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 8:

947 in southeastern Michigan is one of the new area codes that everybody, you'll see everybody have.

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I don't like it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 3:

I don't like it.

00:05:01 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 2:

Why does that happen? 947.

00:05:03 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

Why does that happen? Not on numbers.

00:05:05 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. We don't have a 947.

00:05:06 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:05:07 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 3:

We won't be able to have a 947 day. That will not be possible. But all right. So happy 313 day. Hey, today's War of the Roses is worth listening to. As a matter of fact, you might know about this War of the Roses because it's the most listened to cheater ever. This is, this morning, the War of the Roses that, and I'll tell you the exact numbers, but it's like tens of millions of people viewed this thing on TikTok. So, so many people know about this particular guy. And it's a War of the Roses, you might remember this situation, where she found a playbill in her husband's car. The guy's not like a frequent go to Fisher Theater to go to shows type of a guy. And that playbill made her think that he went on a date or something with another woman. And we ended up calling him up to see where he was going to send the roses to. And you'll hear the whole thing. And that will give you an update on it. A lot of people like to know what's going on with certain people that got busted, cheated on the War of the Roses. And this morning you'll get that as we celebrate actually a pretty crazy anniversary of this thing. So it's coming up at 7 o'clock. All right, it's Mojo on the Morning Show. Kevin would like to do an on-air apology to his mom for being very disrespectful to her.

00:06:29 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I was disrespectful. Maybe you can tell me if I were, although it already seems like you're casting judgment. So maybe I'll talk to the ladies on the show. Is it disrespectful if you go to someone's house, they offer you a meal, and you decline that meal? I don't think that's disrespectful. I went to my mom's house because I haven't seen her in a while. and I was yearning some mommy love. Went to go see my mom, hugged her, kissed her, and she offered me greens. Now, greens aren't a snack that you just, like, offer somebody when they come to your house, right? Like, hey, I got some greens. You want to try these greens? Like, that doesn't sound like... No, I like greens. I like kale. I like turnip. I like collard. Was she cooking them already as part of dinner or something? She didn't even make the greens, which made this even crazier that she would be offended that I turned them down. I'm like, you didn't even make them. She's like, I want you to try the greens. I'm like, I don't want to try the greens. Took a nap. Wake up from my nap. I'm about to leave out. She brings me a to-go greens. She's like, take the greens. I do not want your greens. Wait, you went to your mom's house just to take a nap? Yeah, why not? Because you went to go visit her. Yeah, but I was tired as well. Filled two birds with one stone.

00:07:39 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, by the way.

00:07:39 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

I'm more offended by that. That may be disrespectful. Yeah. Come on now. Don't you feel better when you're in the presence of loved ones?

00:07:47 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

By the way.

00:07:48 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:07:49 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to say that he does this often. I just want you to know that he's talked about this before. He goes over to his mom's house and the first thing he does is he falls asleep.

00:07:56 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

It's just something so comforting about being in her presence.

00:07:59 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 3:

I think your mom does not take offense to that. I think most moms love to see their child getting rest. But I will say this, this isn't not a, Hey, when you go to somebody's house and they offer you food and you don't eat it, is it rude to say, no, no, this isn't anybody's house. This is your mom's house.

00:08:16 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't want the greens. Why? Why is that a problem? Why do you not like the greens?

00:08:20 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm just not in the mood to eat greens right now. See, is your mom a food pusher? Because both of my grandmas were food pushers. And you could be vomiting. And they are still, like, giving you whatever it is that they want you to have or try or they cooked or whatever. She's not really a food pusher. All day long until you finally just say, okay. You got to give in. Okay.

00:08:40 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

There's nutrients in greens. I like the greens. Eat the greens. I don't want the greens. You need the greens. You know why you need the greens? because you've been sick and you have not been eating well. You eat a bunch of crap nowadays, so you need the greens.

00:08:54 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 1:

I do. I got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, greens, raw, raw. Beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, turkeys, raw, raw. You need beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, rams, raw, raw. Beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, turkeys, chicken, turkeys. Beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, chicken, turkeys, raw, raw.

00:09:12 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

You eat your mama's greens, right? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is Kevin rude for doing this, for not eating his mom's food? And who's the food pusher in your family? Who's the person that always wants to feed you, always making sure that you got food in your belly? Did you have a food pusher? Well, I have a bunch of food pushers. Chelsea's grandfather was a total food pusher. God rest Danny Manzo's soul. Danny Manzo, you go over to his house, and he would, first off, He would make, he made, he called it frickin' chicken. That's what he would call it.

00:09:47 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I love some of that.

00:09:48 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Made frickin' chicken. He would have, I mean, I'm not kidding you. There'd be 8,000 thighs of chicken, boneless thighs of chicken, just sitting up on his stove, just sitting in those silver pans that are in there.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 1:

And then he also made humongous pots of cream of celery soup and then little teeny Reuben's. Like he would always make.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

I love Reuben's.

00:10:08 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they were so good. And you would eat. And if you don't eat. And he looked at me all the time. I think he liked that his granddaughter married a fat guy that liked to eat his food. But he would, if I only had like a couple of them. Not acceptable. He would think that I was, you know, spitting in his face.

00:10:25 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 2:

Never heard of cream of celery.

00:10:27 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Cream of celery soup. It was actually so good. I'm not going to lie to you. It was, honestly, it's like greens.

00:10:33 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not. No, it's not. No, no, no, no, no, no.

00:10:36 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to stop you right there. Greens is black people food. Cream of celery soup is white people food.

00:10:42 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

It's like raisins in the potato salad. I will not confirm. I will not back that up.

00:10:47 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 2:

You might be alone on this one.

00:10:48 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. It was so good. Emmanuel, what's going on? Hi.

00:10:53 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's up? Hey, Kev, man, I love you, man, but you was wrong for not taking those to-go greens,

00:10:59 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 5:

I don't want the greens, man. Yeah, but then he's just going to throw them away and waste them. You already made them, man. You already made them. You didn't listen.

00:11:07 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 1:

No, and she doesn't know if you throw them away when you leave. She does not think that.

00:11:12 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, exactly, exactly.

00:11:14 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Listen, she didn't make the greens.

00:11:17 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 6:

She didn't make them. You want them from the net?

00:11:19 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:20 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 5:

You got the greens?

00:11:21 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:22 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 5:

You got to take them. Did you talk about the fact that she was probably hungry and needed an excuse to make them?

00:11:27 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 1:

He's got, by the way, a history of being rude to his mother.

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 6:

That is not true.

00:11:32 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:33 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 6:

Hey, my mom makes food all the time, and you do got to take it, man. If you make it to go, you got to take it. That's your mama.

00:11:40 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 1:

If your mom, Kevin, were to do anything for you, she does a lot for you, you got to take it. You got to say yes to it because she's your mom. She gave birth to you. She ruined her vagina for you. What a blessing. Am I right or am I right?

00:11:57 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 6:

She's better for it.

00:11:58 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:59 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 6:

You're right. You're right, Mojo.

00:12:01 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Emmanuel.

00:12:02 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 5:

My vagina's still fine. Just a note to all the moms listening.

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 1:

I've heard it's angry.

00:12:08 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 5:

It actually comes out okay. What's going on, Casey? How you doing?

00:12:12 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Good. Yeah. My mom was the biggest food pusher. Like, you could not tell her no because she would not leave you alone until you tried it. But the worst part was is if she was like, does this taste funny? She would push you to taste. It's like, I don't want to taste it if it tastes funny.

00:12:27 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 1:

You know, that is kind of funny. Isn't it funny when somebody says that? Hey, does this thing got a smell to it? And they were trying to. Can I say something to you, Casey? Here we are talking about this. Kevin's not eating her food. Yesterday we had a conversation on the show where it's like, can you talk to your parent too much? And the whole thing came out of, hey, when your parent wants to talk to you, talk to him. Because you never know when your last conversation is going to be. You never know when your last meal is going to be.

00:12:52 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 3:

There you go. You never say no to mom. You can say no to other people, but you can't say no to mom. And you definitely need to talk to them as much as you can. I lost my mom in 23, so it's rough. It still hurts. I know. It's rough.

00:13:05 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right, absolutely. Thanks, Casey. I love you. What's up, Courtney? How you doing?

00:13:10 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I'm doing good. How are you guys?

00:13:12 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 1:

We're great. What's going on? What do you think?

00:13:15 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 4:

I think it's funny. Kev said he wanted to go see his mom, but then he took a nap. How can you see your mom with your eyes closed?

00:13:21 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 2:

What is wrong with that? I gave her a hug. I gave her a kiss. We chatted for a minute, and then I went to a slumber.

00:13:29 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

You said you haven't seen her a while for a minute is, like, that's crazy. But also, I wanted to comment on the food pusher thing.

00:13:35 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:13:36 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 4:

The worst food pusher is the one who's pushing food on you, but then we'll say, like, wow, you ate so much.

00:13:41 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's true. And they become judgmental. That is so funny. Thanks, Courtney. Have a great morning. Thank you. Take care. Christina, what's up, Christina?

00:13:51 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how's it going?

00:13:52 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

Going great. What's going on? Who's the food pusher in your family?

00:13:56 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny? My mom, but I'm turning into one now, too. Are you?

00:14:00 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. What are you pushing?

00:14:02 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 5:

It's happening. My mom just likes to cook. We go over there. We don't even leave the kitchen. That's where you hang out. You're not going to get relaxed and sit on the couch. You're going to be sitting in the kitchen, and she wants to. Are you hungry? Can I make you something? Do you want a glass of wine? Mom, it's 9 a.m. Welcome to your mom's house. And then even if you don't want it, she has the to-go boxes. She buys in bulk from Amazon. So she's like, I'll just pack your stuff to go.

00:14:28 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Christina, can I ask you a question?

00:14:31 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 5:

What?

00:14:32 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

Are you a white woman?

00:14:34 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 5:

I am.

00:14:35 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Do you, or have you ever had cream of celery? He's still on it.

00:14:41 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 5:

My mom uses the cream of celery soup to make. Oh, exactly. No, no, no, no, listen, listen, listen to her sentence. To make what?

00:14:48 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 1:

Casseroles.

00:14:49 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 5:

I think it's like, I think it's like a casserole.

00:14:51 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. Campbell's cream of celery soup. Campbell's cream of chicken soup.

00:14:56 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 5:

I've heard of mushroom.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

I've heard of mushroom. Campbell's cream of mushroom soup.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 3:

Yep, chicken, cream, and mushroom. If you do cream of celery, you hate yourself.

00:15:03 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 2:

Where do they sell this? Marianne, you there? Hi, good morning. Marianne, proof positive as a mom that you know that your kid's not eating your food when they take it home. What happened?

00:15:16 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 4:

So, okay, last week he was at my house. I gave him some lasagna, some tiramisu, too little to go containers, right? Last night, I'm spending the night at his apartment in Detroit because I have a breakfast meeting this morning. And what do I find in the fridge? The lasagna and the termina. Oh, that bastard. Does he live downtown? Untouched. He does, but he's a pilot, so he's out of town a lot. Perfect. I live downtown. Bring it to me. Now you don't need breakfast for the meeting. I don't know where you live, but I could. He's still there.

00:15:50 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 2:

Marianne, is your son single?

00:15:53 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 4:

He is.

00:15:54 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

Megan, a pilot.

00:15:55 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, where does he live? Where does he live? Give me the name. Give me the name of the building. Washington Park.

00:16:02 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

00:16:03 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 4:

Is he cute? How old is he? How much debt does he have? What's his credit score?

00:16:07 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 2:

Megan will hand-feed him your lasagna.

00:16:11 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 4:

He's like 6'6", 180 pounds.

00:16:14 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. A tall pilot. By the way, is this weird? She's ewing your... Oh, my God. Thanks, Marianne. Yeah, that's a good scene. Take care.

00:16:25 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 3:

Kev's comments are now classified as illegal imports in Windsor. Thanks a lot, government officials. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:37 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 2:

All right, this was the year that Snoop Dogg was acquitted of first and second degree murder charges.

00:16:42 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 1:

I prayed on it. My family prayed on it. David Kennedy, you know what I'm saying, put on the bomb, bomb case. Donald Ray, Marshall Morrissey, Paul Palladino, the whole Dream Team. they did what they were supposed to do and they gave the baton to the jury and I couldn't do nothing but just bank on them.

00:16:58 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 2:

The big movie was Jerry Maguire.

00:17:00 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 3:

Show me the money. I need to feel you, Jerry. Show me the money. Jerry, you better yell.

00:17:04 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Show me the money. Show me the money.

All right. He's cheating with you, but we'll never cheat on you. That's cute. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. What year was this?

00:18:03 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't even remember. What was he being charged with? Murder. Really? Snoop Dogg in this year was acquitted of first and second degree murder charges.

00:18:14 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 1:

I prayed on it. My family prayed on it. David Kenner, you know what I'm saying, put on the bomb, bomb case. Donald Ray, Marshall Morris, he, Paul Palladino, the whole Dream Team. They did what they were supposed to do. Murder was the case that they gave me. I couldn't do nothing. Show me the money.

00:18:29 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 2:

Jerry Maguire was the big movie. Show me the money. Time Cruise. Show me the money. Show me the money. I can't believe which one of you guys said that you never saw that movie ever. I think it was Megan and I. I haven't seen that movie. You guys never seen that movie? No. Oh, my God. That's a great movie. You got to see it. And the big song. There it is. What year was it? Amber, what year was that? It was 1996. It was.

00:18:58 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:19:01 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 2:

Now, what was the clue that gave it away for you?

00:19:04 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 4:

Jerry Maguire was one of my favorite movies when I was a preteen. I was like 12 years old. Show me the money.

00:19:09 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was a great movie. Yes. Um, we're going to set you up with Imagine Dragons live from the Hollywood Bowl, a pair of tickets to see that screening. Uh, it's happening March the 26th and March the 29th. You got a pair. Congratulations to you. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you, Amber. You have a good day. Do you got a big plans today? Anything interesting going on?

00:19:29 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 4:

Uh, no, I just pulled up at work, work at a school with a bunch of wonderful kids.

00:19:33 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh man. All right.

00:19:34 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 4:

A little sarcasm in there.

00:19:36 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 2:

Where are you at? Where are you, where are you teaching?

00:19:41 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm out in Farmington at Wood Creek Elementary.

00:19:44 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Miss Amber. All right, we love you. Thanks for listening to us. Thank you. We're going to give you a shot at tickets right now to see Post Malone and Jelly Roll. If you would like to win, text to win. Text Ford, as in Ford Field, where there will be.

morning so eminem has joined a group seeking a wnba expansion team here in detroit the bid reportedly includes detroit pistons owner tom gore's owners from a whole bunch of other detroit franchises like the wings the tigers lions also on board to make this happen more than 10 different cities actually submitted bids to secure an expansion wnba team ahead of february's deadline from the league and many of those bids are supported by current nba owners charlotte cleveland denver detroit of course houston kansas city philly nashville austin the wnba was expected to pick one expansion city but i think that number could increase to three because of demand i thought

00:20:54 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 4:

that detroit was already like told no they're not going to get it oh see i thought the opposite

00:20:59 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 3:

Really? I think Cleveland. Was it Cleveland? Toronto's about to announce a team. They already have the name. Serena Williams is part of owner.

00:21:08 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 4:

I saw Eminem jump on this thing yesterday, too. I saw that same story. And then I think it was like a week or two weeks ago, I thought there was a story that came out that said something like Detroit is not going to be one of the teams for this. But maybe it's, I don't know.

00:21:20 - 00:21:36 | Speaker 6:

Can I tell you what makes me mad? We need a PWHL team as well. The Professional Women's Hockey League. They just started with, do they have six teams and they just expanded two more? But it makes me so angry that we're Hockey Town and we don't have a women's team as well.

00:21:36 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 5:

Girls hockey for students is becoming increasingly popular. It was already popular, but it is really on a roll.

00:21:43 - 00:22:03 | Speaker 6:

So what they did last year was with the PWHL, they played in all of their home cities. And then they did, sorry, excuse me, like exhibition games. They were real games, but they went to other cities. So Detroit had one last year, but we didn't have a Detroit team. It was two other cities playing in it, and they sold out LCA, so I'm shocked that we don't have a team.

00:22:03 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 4:

And I know there's a huge tournament that comes here every single year for young women that play, but you should put your bid in on that. Eminem put his bid in.

00:22:12 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 3:

I will pledge $5. Throw in some financial money. Come on. I heart slapstick. Yeah.

00:22:19 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 5:

The late Dean Hackman's dogs were the ones who led first responders to the actor's dead body inside of his New Mexico home last month. That's the latest in this. Still just crazy stories to me. Bear and Nikita, the two surviving dogs Gene shared with his wife, were left wandering around the couple's Santa Fe home for days upon days before help arrived. I guess a back door had been left open, which allowed the dogs to go in and out of the home. But first responders had been at the couple's home for nearly half an hour when they noticed some strange behavior from these two pups. And one of the dogs was constantly barking at the emergency workers before running away toward the other end of the house. And at first they thought, oh, the dogs just want to play. But no, they were actually trying to tell authorities that something was very wrong and lead them to Gene's body and then his wife's body, again, in separate rooms. The couple's third dog, Xena, was found dead inside of a locked crate, like a dog crate. Oh, no. Yeah.

00:23:21 - 00:23:23 | Speaker 3:

No. Are you thinking they starve to death?

00:23:23 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Oh, yeah.

00:23:25 - 00:23:25 | Unknown:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:23:26 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Jessica Simpson slurring her words in a new video on her Instagram that she recorded as she was on her way to South by Southwest. And now fans are worried again.

00:23:37 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, everybody. It's Jessica Simpson. We just landed in Austin. And right now I'm going to wait in line at Enterprise. This is not an ad, but I'm getting a rental car.

00:23:46 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 5:

So she's been sober for seven years, and people were commenting things like, oh, somebody had a cocktail on the plane and, you know, whatever. I honestly.

00:23:54 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 4:

I don't think it sounds any different than she normally sounds.

00:23:56 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 5:

I don't either. And I also think, like, she gets her lips done. I think she probably just got her lips done, and you talk a little funny. You do? You do? Like, after you get something done to your lips, I, honest to God, think it's just that.

00:24:08 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 2:

What's up, everybody? It's Jessica Simpson. And, of course, I'm, you know, hanging out with Mojo on the radio.

00:24:15 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 4:

And will you tell everybody that you and I had an affair?

00:24:18 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 2:

The new cover of Us Weekly is actually Me and Mojo. For juicy details, you're going to have to buy the new Us Weekly.

00:24:26 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 4:

See, I think she sounds fine.

00:24:27 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 5:

She was always a good interview, by the way, because she'd talk about anything.

00:24:30 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

00:24:31 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 5:

Anything you asked her.

00:24:32 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 4:

I remember we did liners with her one time. Those are those things that you just heard just a second ago. And we did liners with her. And she would be like, hi, I'm Jessica Simpson, and I just pooped myself. And she was like, love that.

00:24:41 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 5:

I love her.

00:24:42 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Teddy Swims was like that when we brought him in studio during Jingle Ball, too. He was like, whatever you guys want, I'll do it for you.

00:24:50 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 5:

And an update on a story we talked about earlier this week. The high school track star who bashed one of her opponents over the head with a relay baton during a recent meet. She is now.

00:25:00 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 2:

facing assault charges this morning a high school track runner accused of attacking her opponent with a baton now faces assault and battery charges but she insists it was an accident I'm sorry I hit her I didn't mean to hit her it was intentional it happened during a relay race at the Virginia High School League Championships Kayleen Tucker was passing a Layla Everett whenever it appeared to suddenly swing her baton hitting Tucker in the back of the head sending her to the ground. Everett says it happened because she lost her

00:25:31 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 3:

balance. Something like this in the air, I catch my balance, pump my arms, she's cutting in so when I pump my arms she got hit. I just felt a bang on my head and

00:25:42 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 2:

then I fell off the track immediately. Tucker suffered a concussion and the judges disqualified Everett who says intense public scrutiny quickly

00:25:50 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 3:

followed. Death threats, racist people, people making fake accounts to talk and harass me on

00:26:00 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 2:

my page. Tucker's mother saying Everett did not apologize. The family blames safety concerns at

00:26:06 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 1:

the track. She wanted my daughter to run over there in front of all these people that may jump on her because they feel like she attacked the other runner. You knew that that had to happen,

00:26:16 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 7:

right the salt charges i mean it was pretty obvious that that was not an accident just

00:26:21 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 4:

banging that girl over the head definitely and her behavior after the fact if it was an accident

00:26:26 - 00:26:33 | Speaker 7:

you you would have stopped and went to help her and well even even days afterwards so what is that

00:26:33 - 00:26:39 | Speaker 1:

noise by the way what is it i turned off my mic i'm down i just i'm trying i'm trying it was yummy

00:26:39 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 7:

i think i think you did have some of your mom's greens it smells like greens in here right now

00:26:44 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 6:

The cream of celery.

00:34:49 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 2:

WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Live.

00:35:00 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. We got a big, big show this morning. The trip to Disney is going to be given away tomorrow morning on the show, but your last two chances to qualify today and tomorrow, so listen at 730. Right now on the show, it's War of the Roses time. Let me go on record to say this is the most listened to and viewed cheater we have ever had. It is time now on the Mojo in the Morning show to celebrate a two-year anniversary. Two-year anniversary of, ready for this? Todd getting his ass busted by all of us here. This aired two years ago today and yesterday, and actually just now, it just surpassed, because it just literally a second ago even got another, I don't know, 150 or so views. It just surpassed 34.1 million views on our TikTok page. 34.1 million views. It is the most viewed TikTok, the cheater and the playbill.

00:36:08 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:36:14 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 1:

Stacey thinks that her husband is cheating. You have suspicion that he was taking some other woman out on a date? that's correct where did this all come from how did how did you start feeling this way

00:36:27 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 4:

oh well you know i've kind of suspected things for a while now but um every time i tried to be direct about it and he would just assure me that i was you know it was in my mind

00:36:39 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 1:

and what was it recently that happened that made you go okay this is crazy so i had to go pick up

00:36:47 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 4:

my daughter from dance, and I couldn't find my keys to my car, so I had to take his car. And on the way, I ended up getting pulled over for speeding, and while I was pulled over, I had to go find the registration in the glove compartment, and when I was in there, I saw a pamphlet for a play that I had been wanting to go to.

00:37:09 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, like the program? Yeah. Like the playbill? Yeah.

00:37:12 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

So, do you think that he was buying you tickets to it or something like that? Do you think it could be that he's getting you something?

00:37:22 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 3:

You only get that, though, when you go. Yeah. So, he went.

00:37:26 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 4:

Of course, it's weird because it was the play I wanted to go to, but it was the program that you get, like, when you actually attend. Right.

00:37:33 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 1:

You think that he went to go to this play, but didn't take you and took somebody else?

00:44:33 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 5:

An excuse is just an excuse, but do I feel bad? Yes. Do I feel caught? Obviously.

00:44:43 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't really feel like you feel bad, though. You're, like, laughing this off and kind of downplaying it and saying, well, it's okay I did this. Things have been rough.

00:44:53 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, I haven't cheated on you and just maybe sending someone flowers.

Good morning.

00:47:03 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to say, I think he's trying to rush her off the phone so he can come up with a better story to sell to her. His hesitation, everything, it just screams lies.

00:47:16 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 1:

It's wild, though. We normally don't get people that will stay on with us that long. So it was wild just trying to see exactly what his explanation was going to be. and he did say something that i thought was interesting and that was i didn't do anything sexually with her so i caught that so why so why bring that up if you have nothing at all but a platonic fun friendship you know what i mean like he went right to that asking uh you know probably in his head like uh-oh i'm in trouble uh for what's going on um lydia you've been uh working on uh trying to get the uh she just keeps bumping me so you okay um like where it's it rings and then it goes right to voicemail so it's like she's actually sending it to voicemail yeah i'm getting like two rings and then voicemail uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number it's funny we did a a topic a while back i don't even know how long it was maybe a couple three years ago where the topic was uh how you should check these places to see if your significant other is being honest with you and the number one spot was the car like check their car because that is the you know their place where they might keep things or you know or have something that might give you an indication that they are not being honest with you and i wonder if any other listeners have ever done that have you ever found anything inside of their car like she did inside of this car which is the other thing too is could you imagine being in a relationship with somebody and you want them to do something with you only to find out that they did it with the person that they are cheating with and they had the uh the affair with um and if that has ever happened 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 courtney what's going on mojo in the morning war of the roses just a little bit ago we just heard a guy send flowers to a woman that was not his wife after his wife was suspicious of what she found in his glove box what's going on i think that the

00:49:30 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 3:

other girl doesn't know that he's married because he was weird the whole time but he got extra weird

00:49:37 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 1:

once he suggested calling her yeah at first he was kind of seemed like he was you know okay yeah go ahead and call her you know what i mean or kind of like i thought i thought for a second he was

00:49:47 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 4:

gonna because he broed you there for a second he did he already gave us the number yeah like seems kind of dumb well and then he was like well i sent flowers to my wife yeah we didn't

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 5:

Did you forget that it was still lunch?

00:50:04 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 1:

Laura, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:50:08 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, so first off, I have to give a shout out to my son because he said he loves listening to War of the Roses in the Morning from you guys.

00:50:18 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 1:

What's his name? What's your son's name? I'm sorry, what did you say your son's name is?

00:50:26 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 5:

Logan.

00:50:27 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 1:

Logan. I love your laugh, though. That laugh was great. Hello, Logan.

00:50:31 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:50:34 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 1:

You are the best.

00:50:35 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 5:

I love spending time with her, so what are they doing if they're not doing anything sexually?

00:50:42 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:50:42 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 5:

Right?

00:50:43 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Love spending time with you. That's why, honestly, leaving the card is the best, you know, like the message. You get it. What's up, Shannon?

00:50:54 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 6:

Hey. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Good morning. Hey, so I, my ex now, narcissist, but I had to use his car one day, and I had to use the navigation system, and I didn't know how to use it, so I'm pushing all these buttons, and it said recent destinations, and I found all these random addresses. Come to find out, it was all his hookups, and it was the addresses to his eyepieces,

00:51:26 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 7:

Oh, what an idiot.

00:51:28 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, that is. Not you, him. That is, by the way, genius of you to go look at that. And was it completely by accident or were you just.

00:51:36 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 6:

It was by accident, but it was genius. And then I also found all of his passwords and sign-on to all of his dating apps. Wow. That was fun, too.

00:51:49 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Well, we're hoping that you're in a better place right now.

00:51:54 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 6:

Oh, definitely, definitely.

00:51:56 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What did you find in his car? Is this melanin? Is it melanin?

00:52:04 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:52:04 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? That's dope. Yeah, it's a cool name.

00:52:08 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 3:

First of all, I want to say I love you guys. I listen to you guys every morning. Oh, we love you. We love you, too. Thank you. And I found a condo. You know where this seatbelt is? I was looking for my lip gloss, and I was like, okay, I'm going to look more here. and it's inside the console and i asked somebody he's like oh no it's my friend i let my friend jog my car that doesn't make sense that doesn't work yeah no isn't that even weird

00:52:36 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 7:

00:52:41 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 3:

00:53:27 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 7:

Where are you?

00:54:39 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I mean, here are these calls that we're getting right now. I mean, that last call in this call, her kid's psychologist, who happened to be somebody that he went to school with.

00:54:52 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 4:

Was my ex-husband's high school girlfriend.

00:54:55 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Un-frickin'-believable. And all on a burner phone. Jeez. Collette.

00:55:00 - 00:55:12 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for calling. Yep, thanks. These are like crazy calls. Voice this guy is Maria. Maria, we're talking about War of the Roses this morning, and what did you find in their car that led you to be suspicious that they were cheating?

00:55:14 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 1:

It was a jewelry receipt from Pandora, and I hate that jewelry. I would never wear that jewelry, and I just happened to take his car, and as I was getting out, my phone happened to drop in his middle council door. Like, it was open. So I went in to grab my phone, and the receipt was stuck to the back of my phone when I brought it out. That's the only reason why I ended up seeing it.

00:55:36 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 4:

Uh-huh. And so what do you say?

00:55:39 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was already suspicious about, I already knew who it was because it was very specific jewelry about a, it was very specific. I knew about it because I already told, you know, my husband at the time, you know, like, I wasn't comfortable with her and whatnot. But I took the receipt into the house, and I just casually just kind of said to him, I was like, hey, I wish you would have told me you were going to the mall because, you know, I wanted to go to Fabletics. You know, I just casually brought it up like that, and the seat turned white as a ghost.

00:56:10 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:56:11 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 1:

That I found, you know, and so that was that.

00:56:16 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's deep. That is wild. All these are great.

00:56:19 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 3:

I wonder what kind of charms he got.

00:56:22 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

We are. and why is pandora so bad all right war of the roses okay so for those that say hey oh my god i think i might remember the war of the roses uh the playbill in the car war of the roses that is the most viewed war of the roses ever tiktok 34.1 plus million now probably more after today and do you guys want to know if are still together or not together yeah stacy and todd are still together yes and we can't judge stacy for her decision making on that one but i believe after two years you go through a period where you got to work some stuff out and uh they are together we asked them to come on the air with this morning for this the anniversary of that uh airing in 2023 and they both declined but had no problem obviously with them being now internet superstars i want i wonder if it's a

00:57:30 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 3:

thing where you know some people believe that there's a difference between emotional cheating and physical cheating and i feel like some people are easier uh where the pill is easier to swallow if it wasn't physical you know what i mean like that that could be a reason why they're still

00:57:46 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 2:

together i don't know what it is but i also think that sometimes it's just sometimes easier just to stay with what you know and try to work through some of the emotions and you know they fall off a little bit and hopefully they work things out we wish them well they gave us lots of people that wanted to hear that war of the roses and it's funny because i can't figure out sometimes when some of these war of the roses that we have on tiktok which you can view up on our channel 955 detroit tiktok you can go search it and go follow it and listen and view all the war of the roses i don't sometimes understand some you know and i'm talking people in places of the world that i've never heard of before that are listening to these things we have a big listening audience

00:58:31 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 4:

00:59:29 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 4:

So Kelly Clarkson has been absent from our daytime talk show for, I said last week earlier, but I think it's been two weeks now. really I don't watch her show because we don't have a TV in the studio and it's on while we're still here but people are wondering like is she okay what's going on a handful of celebrities have stepped in in her absence to guest host episodes of the Kelly Clarkson show and I did chat with a few different sources of mine about this I'm told two things she is not sick she is dealing with a personal matter that does not directly involve her. I don't know what that means. But I am being told the same thing over and over again. But that would directly involve her.

01:00:09 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 2:

Didn't she have a divorce and all that stuff?

01:00:12 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm wondering if it's something with that, which also would directly involve her. But regardless, she is okay, health-wise.

01:00:21 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 2:

Let's wish her well, but let's also try to free Wendy Williams. Is there any way we can free her? I mean, maybe she's on The View Friday and she'll tell us everything we need to know. She's not going to say anything more than what she's already said. Somebody needs to figure out a way to get her out of this place that she's in and have somebody do an evaluation on her that isn't one of these guardians. I feel like she's the Britney Spears of right now. Yeah, she is.

01:00:45 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she is. What if somebody at The View, what if Joy Behar snuck her out the back door so she could be there into a getaway car? chapel roan explaining her shift away from pop and toward country music with her new song the giver now she said this is temporary this is not a permanent change so nobody should worry but she said she really wanted to write a country song because she thought it would be funny and campy and it's a return to her musical roots i'm from southwest missouri grew up on like christian and

01:01:17 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 5:

country um and then found alejandro by lady gaga and i was like i think i like this too so i you know have kept country in my heart and it's so incredibly nostalgic the song is very funny

01:01:36 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 3:

is it it is like a parody uh i wouldn't call it a parody campy yes it's very campy it's very it's It's about sex. It's a sex country song. What is Campy? Campy is like, have you seen any John Waters films?

01:01:52 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't know who that is.

01:01:53 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 3:

The original Hairspray, Flamingos.

01:01:56 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 5:

It's Goofy.

01:01:57 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 3:

The Barbie movie? True Beverly Hills. Camp.

01:02:01 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 2:

The Barbie movie is a good one.

01:02:02 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 3:

The Barbie movie is Camp.

01:02:04 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 2:

That's one I feel like everybody's seen.

01:02:06 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of nostalgia, do you guys remember the throwback group En Vogue? Of course.

01:02:11 - 01:02:12 | Speaker 2:

I believe we did.

01:02:12 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 1:

No, you're never going to get it. And Vogue in the Dirty because one of its members, she was kind of in and out over the years.

01:02:24 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 4:

But Dawn Robinson has fallen on hard times and she is revealing to fans that she's homeless. She's actually been living in her car.

01:02:33 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 1:

You guys, for the past three, almost three years, I have been living in my car. I said it. Oh, my God, it's out. I've been living in my car. Oh, my gosh. If you remember, if you guys were with me in 2020, I did like 105,000 interviews. Weren't they just here at the MGM? I was living with my parents in Vegas.

01:02:58 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 2:

You were running a spot for her.

01:02:59 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 1:

And that was wonderful. Maybe she wasn't involved. I love my mom, but she became very angry. And a lot of her anger she was taking out on me.

01:03:09 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so lived with her parents, moved out, was sleeping in her car for about a month in Vegas. Her manager said, hey, move to L.A., I'll help you out. She did. He ghosted her. She said she stayed in a hotel for a little bit and then ended up in her car for various reasons. And in sharing her story now, Dawn said it's real, it's okay, part of being human is to be vulnerable. And she also hopes to inspire others and let them know that they're capable of anything, no matter what the odds are against you.

01:03:37 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 2:

We wish you well. Coming up next hour on the show, Shannon's going to tell us details of where Tayo Cruz has been.

01:03:42 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 4:

I asked you if I should do this story, you a-hole, and you said yes.

01:03:46 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 2:

That's a great story. I'm just saying, we should do that as a feature. Shut up, Tayo Cruz. You are a jerk. We should do that as a feature. Or, did Sia ever see?

01:03:55 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Sia had a big controversy.

01:03:57 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 2:

What did she do?

01:03:58 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 3:

She made a movie about a girl with autism that was played by, what's her face, from Dance Moms, Maddie Ziegler. Who was in all her music videos. Yes, and it just, it was very controversial, to say that.

01:04:14 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 2:

Everybody's got controversy. That's why Shannon does it in the Dirty on the 30.

01:04:19 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, this clip has gone viral over the past couple of days. Ben Affleck at a sneaker convention with his 13-year-old son, Samuel. And Sam picks up this pair of Dior Air Jordan 1 sneakers with a $6,000 price tag. And Dad was very quick to let him know that he was not going to be the one paying for these $6,000 shoes. And he told Sam, you're broke. Fast forward to South by Southwest this week. He was asked about it again. Did your son start mowing the lawn for those sneakers?

01:04:55 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

That's what happens when you tell them they have to mow a lawn. All of a sudden, they don't want those shoes anymore.

01:05:00 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 2:

I was like, but there's always some grift why I need to be. I'm like, well, you do not need $1,000 shoes. He's like, we have the money. I'm like, I have the money.

01:05:09 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 1:

You're broke. $6,000. Hey, Dad, would you buy these for me?

01:05:14 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 2:

It was interesting. You stumbled over Dior, right? What you said? Yeah. I, for the longest time, thought it was Javin-a-gee or whatever. What is it? Javin-a-gee. They have like all those, like the, and then Balint. I didn't know how to pronounce the Balint-see.

01:05:27 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Until it's in the dirty Balint-i-aga.

01:05:28 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Balint-i-aga. Like all those, the really nice.

01:05:31 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 1:

Schiaparelli was hard for me at first.

01:05:33 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 2:

Those ones are really nice. Is it Goyard or Goyard?

01:05:36 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

I think it's Goyard.

01:05:37 - 01:05:38 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:05:38 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

But what do I know?

01:05:40 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 1:

No French. I don't speak French. I speak American. When you don't know, you just make it sound fancy. So even if it's wrong, it sounds fancy. Let's be honest, I don't speak English. For all of today's Dirty, catch up on the podcast by searching Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

It's a big celebration of St. Patrick's Day in downtown Grand Rapids. And why don't we real quick, before we get to more of the show, Lydia, why don't we grab maybe a VIP-er for that? If you're willing to do this, whether you're listening to us in West Michigan, that's perfect, or if you're willing to drive in from any of the other surrounding listening areas like Detroit or even as far as Toledo, it's a fun time. 01:08:33 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay, here's the thing, too, I've noticed over the years of us doing this. I think the bulk of the party, the best party, is during the day with everybody day drinking. And once it gets to the nighttime, you know who you're dealing with? The people that think they can still drink after day drinking.

01:08:50 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I always like to go get something to eat out there, too. I want to go and experience a little bit more Grand Rapids because we don't get an opportunity to make it out to you guys a ton, and I want to do that. So I'm excited. I think we're going to arrive. We have top-notch limo party buses, whatever they are. Top-notch. Go check those guys out. Ramon and Lori and everybody over there are going to be driving us in. And we're going to be broadcasting from, I think we're calling it, is it the Planet Fitness Party Boss or something like that? Is that what it's called? Yeah, they're sponsoring. Planet Fitness Party Boss. Get drunk with no judgment. Is it still a judgment-free zone on the party boss? Oh, no, we judge on that thing. No, no, we'll be judged. I actually tried to get Brian Reif to jump on with us, and he's got something going on. I'm like, Brian, come on, seriously. We'll have some fun. We'll get some drinks in us. Thank you to everybody in West Michigan. Ron Clement, by the way, that guy. What's up, Ron? Ron, most unbelievable sales manager, whatever. He's the guy.

01:10:00 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 3:

He sells us. He's the best. He loves the show. Big fan. Thank you, by the way, to Barfly. Thank you to those guys for everything that they do. But it's going to be a fun time. I promise you. We're going to have a great time. Irish off Ionia. Off, baby. Calder Plaza. You can go on our Instagram. We posted yesterday the Ice Luge, which...

01:10:20 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 4:

Mojo with the big tongue. That tongue.

01:10:23 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 3:

That tongue might melt. You know, in years past. Oh. In years past, that thing has been solid frozen because it's been so damn cold, it might be warm enough in the sun out. That thing might be, who knows?

01:10:34 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Get a little shot of water with your shot. Hydration.

01:10:38 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 2:

Water down a little bit. Go hard. Drink up. Have a great time. Just don't be the person towards the end of the night that's sitting on the curb trying to get their life together and trying not to throw up. It's always somebody on the curb, bro. It is every time.

01:10:52 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 3:

My favorite is Mike, when Mike walks up to them and starts having, does interviews with them. Brianna, are you there?

01:11:01 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

01:11:03 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Brianna, we're going to see you on Saturday.

01:11:08 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

01:11:09 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Are you close to Grand Rapids or where are you?

01:11:13 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm in Macomb.

01:11:14 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Okay, so that's going to be a little drive for you. That's all right. Lydia's coming from Macomb, too. We're going to have fun.

01:11:20 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. Thank you so much.

01:11:21 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 3:

You're going to have a great time in West Michigan. And I want to see all the Grand Valley students out there, too. I tried to get my son to come from East Lansing, but they're having something in East Lansing at his fraternity house. They're having a big St. Patrick's Day party. But I thought that would be kind of fun to party with Luke.

01:11:39 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 1:

I can't keep up with the youth.

01:11:41 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

The youths? I know.

01:11:43 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 2:

You're not a borger?

01:11:44 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I don't understand borging at all. First of all, dumb name. Get more creative. I am so sick of the millennial slander online. We need to start attacking Gen Z and putting them in their place. You are not creative.

01:11:56 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 3:

It's dangerous, by the way, those things. They just throw a bunch of vodka into a bottle and put some color in there, like food coloring or something.

01:12:04 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Meos or whatever it's called.

01:12:04 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, it's, what is it? Is it like Pedialyte or something? Yeah. That's how they flavor it, yeah.

01:12:11 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 2:

Bianca knows.

01:12:12 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:12:14 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

Do better, Bianca.

01:12:15 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 3:

What's that?

01:12:15 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Do better, Bianca.

01:12:17 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's my fault. Mojo in the Morning Show, I want to bring something up. And so Luke, you know, had been home and I got a chance to kind of like, I guess, get them together again. So Luke has a, he has a Jeep.

01:12:31 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 2:

Is that me?

01:12:32 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 3:

See, here's the problem. When you're away at college, I feel like you get your, you know, you don't know exactly what your kids are doing when they get to this age where they're college age kids. Well, just wait. You remember what you did in college? Wait till you have to parent somebody like that. And then you start realizing that you were just like him. So he had his Jeep home. and so I decided that I was going to be the nice dad and I was going to get it cleaned because the damn thing hadn't been cleaned probably since we bought that thing. Can you do mine?

01:12:58 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 4:

Imagine what was in this car.

01:13:00 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, first off, let me just say this. When I went through his Jeep, I had to clean out every article of clothing I think this kid owns. Somebody needs to explain this to me. You know what this is if you have young kids? This is your kid's school locker at the end of the school year. You ever go to your kid's school for the end of the school year and you open up the locker and everything falls out and you're like there's the 12th lunchbox I've lost or you know there's his 20th pair of shoes that for some reason I've had to go dicks and go buy new shoes for the good I open up the back of the jeep and pop that thing open and I'm telling you I'm pulling everything out of this thing and I'll tell you the last but not least the thing that I was most interested in um of course I open it up and what do I find zins you know because he's you know 19 years old I find vapes you know Oh, I would be so mad. Believe me, I was. I gave him the what-fur. I gave him the what-fur.

01:13:57 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 2:

I feel like that's what Gen Z stands for. It's Zin.

01:13:59 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I found condoms. I was proud of him on the condoms. There we go.

01:14:05 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 4:

He actually had condoms in the trunk of his car?

01:14:07 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

No, he had that in the center console of his car. New ones, right? Did you bring condoms? I actually, you know, and I was appropriate. I took the, I left the Zins. I'm okay with the Zins. I took the vapes. Yep. And I left the condoms. Yeah. Although took one for nostalgia purpose.

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Put it in your wallet?

01:14:26 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 3:

I put it in his scrapbook.

01:14:29 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

01:14:29 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 3:

So I made sure that was there.

01:14:30 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

That's the umbilical cord for some condoms.

01:14:33 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 3:

Then I'm going through, and I find, what do I find in the car? I find my clothing and hats. What? So some of my golf hats and some of my, like, sweatshirts that I had, like some Michigan State sweatshirts that I got, The kid's taking my crap.

01:14:48 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay, wait a second, though.

01:14:49 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:14:50 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 4:

Did you pause and go, we can wear the same size stuff?

01:14:53 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 3:

No, we're not the same size, except for a hat.

01:14:56 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

But I'm saying your stuff is not so oversized anymore that he could actually...

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 6:

Steal it and wear it.

01:15:00 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 4:

Believe me. That's big. I think, honestly, I think he probably took the wrong thing. And he grabbed it out of the laundry room and then took it with him, Shan. And I don't think he ever put it on. Or he put it on and he goes, oh, I'm swimming in this thing. I wish it was that way. But it was, no, he took my damn clothes and then took all this stuff. And I started thinking back to, I remember when I used to clean the kids' rooms. Or not clean, inspect the kids' rooms. I would do like a law and order SVU. I'd put the gloves on and go through and see what kind of evidence I could find. I would put the tape out so they couldn't walk through there, the yellow tape that said, please, line, don't. And I wanted to ask this question. What did you as a parent or what did your parents find in your room or in your car if you were somebody that was like Luke who has a car? What did you find? And when you found it, what did you do with it? Because what I did, I took all the clothes and I threw them right in our front entryway of our house. But I made sure that I put every one of those vapes and things like that right up on the kitchen counter. So that his mother could see it. So that if he had, you know, some friends coming over, he could see, oh, look at that, huh? Raspberry.

01:16:13 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 2:

I thought you would have his back in this. I don't know why. I'm proud of you for this, but I thought you would have his back.

01:16:18 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 4:

I don't like the vape thing. That's the only thing. Yeah. I was happy that he had condoms. I did not want the vapor in there. I can see that getting to you.

01:16:26 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 6:

How bad did that car smell with all the clothes in it, too? Because you know how clothes take on this smell and they keep it in?

01:16:33 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 4:

I had to have my neighbor, John Smith, come over and John go and smell the car to figure out where the smell was coming from. You know what he figured it out? It was Luke's G4 golf shoes that smelled like crap inside the car, and it literally smelled like rotten a-hole.

01:16:47 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:16:47 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 4:

Which I don't know what rotten a-hole smells like, but if I knew it, it was that. It was the shoe. Yeah, you do. It was. No, it was. It was. I've never done the smell thing, the smell test on myself. But it was something surreal. And as a parent, I remember going through, I remember finding my son Joe's weed for the first time. What was that like? It was honestly, like, disappointing, but it wasn't surprising.

01:17:14 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Okay.

01:17:15 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 4:

Half the time, the kid had glossy eyes. I knew something was going on.

01:17:18 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it was pretty obvious with him. As the stepmom of a teenage boy, I and Wes will corroborate this story. I absolutely refuse to go through anything. There is a blanket downstairs because his bedroom is downstairs in our basement. And there is a blanket that's like my favorite blanket in the whole entire world. And I can see it in his laundry. It's basically a pile. And you know, in the cartoons where they would draw like the smell squiggles coming out, like that's what it is at this point. But I told Wes, I'm like, I really want that blanket, but I know I need to wash it. And I am not touching it. And he goes, well, I'm not touching it either. I'm like, well, you need to be the one to go tell him, go wash it.

01:17:57 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 4:

You don't want to crush it.

01:17:57 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 6:

And then I'm going to wash it again, and then it will be usable.

01:18:00 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 4:

You just don't want it to be stuck together.

01:18:02 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 6:

But I looked everywhere for that.

01:18:04 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 4:

The crunchy one. Believe me, with boys, don't ever touch socks. I'm telling you. Don't grab socks.

01:18:10 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 6:

Like, if something's missing, I know it's down there, but I'm not going down there. I'd rather buy it new.

01:18:16 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 4:

The other thing with kids is that you go through and you look at all their stuff and you look at everything that they got in there, and then they complain they don't have money, but they spent all that money on Zins. Because I actually tried to buy some Zins for myself. A bunch of guys that I was going golfing with last summer all did Zins. So I'm like, oh, I'm going to go get one that's a flavor I like because usually they give me their flavors and they're horrible. And so I go to the Shell station by my house to go buy them. I'm like, you believe how expensive those things are? How much are they?

01:18:45 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Are they really better for you, by the way? It was like nine bucks or ten bucks for the thing. Absolutely not.

01:18:51 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know. It's better than putting something in your lungs, though.

01:18:55 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it's like when people say, well, filtered cigarettes are better for you than unfiltered cigarettes. They're still cigarettes. Yeah.

01:19:01 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Tim? How you doing? Good. How you doing? Good. We're talking about finding stuff in your kids' rooms or your parents finding stuff in their rooms or cars. What's going on?

01:19:11 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

so I just want to tell the story about when I was 21 years old or 21 of the two and uh I borrowed a porn tape from my my buddy and he had like a large amount and it was titled Ghostbusters so I borrowed this tape for to spice things up with me and my girl so I had it hidden in my room and I know where it was hidden it was hidden in my dress drawer so my mom unknowingly to me she was snooping through my room and I come home one day and I'm walking in and my brother's there and his his new girlfriend's there and my mom's got this angry look on her face and I walk a little farther and my girlfriend's with me at the time too walk a little farther into the dining room and I see this bouquet of VHS tapes ripped out of the tape sitting on the kitchen table and I look and I said what is this and she says you know damn well what

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 4:

that is i said i said that's ghostbusters i said that's not my tape that's my buddy calvin's tape

01:20:06 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

so did mom pop that thing in and start watching ghostbusters

01:20:12 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 4:

oh yeah oh yeah and i know exactly the scene that she thought

01:20:17 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 1:

yeah i liked how they disguised it as ghostbusters that was the perfect way that was actually great cat what's going on it's mojo in the morning what

01:20:30 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 5:

did your mom find yeah um so when i moved out i or well when i was younger i used to go party and have alcohol bottles and then have them like half full and i'm like well i'm gonna save this for the next party um and would hide them in the garage and then my mom ended up moving houses shortly after I left for college, cleaning out the garage, found all of my old half-empty liquor bottles kind of scattered throughout the garage, wrapped them up, and then gave them to me on my 21st birthday. Oh, that's so great. Wait, you didn't do the traditional tote bag wrapped up with old sweatshirts to keep the bottles from clanking together while you were trying to speak out of the house? Well, we lived on a lake, so we used to just partied out at the lake, so I just stashed in the garage so I could grab and go the next time I went down there.

01:21:19 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 1:

that's the thing with luke is it drives me crazy just throw this crap out you know what i mean like he just leaves all and he leaves all the empties there and what's up whitney how you doing i'm good how are you guys good whitney we're talking about things that you or your parents found in your room

01:21:35 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 6:

or your car what's going on i went into my son's room he's 15 he's a good guy he uh i found a bag and i was like what is this and it was his girlfriend's period cup oh my god you win oh why wow souvenirs okay well he come home i was like what is this why do you have this he's like well her parents don't want to lose her virginity because of a so her parents won't let her wear tampons or period cups or anything like that okay what is wrong with them i don't know or did she She'd take it out when they were hooking up. So when she needs it, she can have it. I'm like, you're such a man. Here's the thing, though. I would never be caught dead giving that to a man. You know what I mean?

01:22:23 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Cody? What's up, Cody? Cody. Hey, how's it going? What's up, man? Your dad found some stuff in your, where was it, your room or car?

01:22:34 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 4:

No, it was in his car, actually, I used to drive. And then he asked me about these marijuana seeds, and I was, like, denied it. Like, oh, no, that's not me. Then, like, months later, this is, like, he ended up planning them, and then he brought me out, and he said, hey, remember those seeds I found? He's, like, look what I got out there.

01:22:55 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 3:

He's got the green, though. That's funny.

01:22:57 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 1:

That actually is a funny way to turn it around. Did you smoke with Dad then eventually?

01:23:03 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 4:

You know, down the road, yeah. You know, as I got older, I mean, I was probably, like, 16 at this time. So, like, down the road, I was, you know, like, 20. But finally, like, you know, I admitted to it. And, yeah, he didn't really smoke. But I was like, yeah, you really got me that time.

01:23:18 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 1:

That's the greatest. Had him right next to the zucchini and tomatoes in the garden.

01:23:22 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

01:23:54 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:23:58 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. It's show time.

01:24:00 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 1:

Hey, happy 3-1-3 day. Coming up this hour on the show, Jalen Duren's going to be on with us from the Pistons, and we're going to give you a chance to win tickets to see the Pistons play tonight for 3-1-3 day against the Washington Wizards. So we'll give you a chance to win coming up here in just a little bit, plus a whole bunch more on the Mojo on the Morning Show, War of the Roses from earlier this morning. The most notorious cheater that we've ever busted, 34-plus million people have witnessed this cheater, and you'll hear more from our War of the Roses recap of what was the most notorious cheater we ever had here on this show. Darren, what's going on? How you doing? Hey, what's going on? What's going on? By the way, I give you credit. I give you credit for calling up because we were talking about, you know, what your parents found in your room or in your car. What did your parents find?

01:24:55 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

No, it was my ex-wife. She found Happy Sock.

01:25:00 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

She found yours.

01:25:01 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 2:

Happy sock.

01:25:02 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 1:

Ew. So it's not even your parent. It was your ex-wife found your happy sock that we were talking about. Which, by the way, will you explain to Shannon that she should never pick up socks when she's got teenagers around the house?

01:25:11 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm not touching anything.

01:25:12 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 4:

No, it was folded in half.

01:25:14 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:25:14 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 4:

Why are you an adult with one of those? Ask again. No, why are you not? No, bro. He's too grown for that.

01:25:20 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 1:

He's an adult. He's too grown. Adult men can have a happy sock.

01:25:24 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 4:

No, you can get a tissue box.

01:25:25 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

He's too grown for that.

01:25:26 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 2:

See, what happened was I was in the military, and we were living in two different houses.

01:25:32 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:25:32 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Listen. It's okay, Darren. You don't have to explain yourself. Darren, I'm your attorney.

01:25:39 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 4:

No, let him explain. Does that make you not an adult? No.

01:25:44 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

This man can fight for our country. You can put a sock around your wiener. I'm okay with it. Listen, you're willing to get on the front lines for us. You can do whatever you want.

01:25:55 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 4:

No, we should trust these people to act more adult when they have access to those weapons.

01:26:01 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 1:

Darren, Darren, did your ex-wife make fun of you for like years after that? Did that come up in the divorce? If I was her attorney, I'd go to trial on that one. LaBelle, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:26:16 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 2:

Will never, ever vape.

01:27:40 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

01:27:42 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 1:

I will never, ever do anything that my mommy tells me not to do.

01:27:48 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 2:

I will never, ever do anything my mommy tells me not to do.

01:27:54 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

And when my mommy tells me to go up to my room and clean my room, I will pick it up.

01:28:00 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 2:

When my mommy tells me to go upstairs and clean my room, I will clean it up.

01:28:06 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 1:

And I will do what she tells me to do.

01:28:09 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 2:

And I will do what she tells me to do.

01:28:12 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 1:

One last thing. I will go into mommy's purse.

01:28:16 - 01:28:16 | Unknown:

She left it on her.

01:28:42 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 2:

01:28:43 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 1:

01:28:51 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 2:

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 1:

01:28:54 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 2:

We got four other kids.

01:28:55 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Are you dropping him off in school in a couple minutes?

01:28:59 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was meeting him at the bus stop, but the bus came, and he wanted to be on the Mojo show, so now I'm going to go ahead and take him all the way to school. Oh, that's so cute. I love it.

01:29:08 - 01:29:09 | Unknown:

Hold on.

01:29:09 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 1:

Let's have Eric. Eric, you ready? Let me hear you. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:29:18 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

This is your Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:29:21 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I like it. You're too damn cute. All right, we love you. Take care of you guys. All right, you too. Zach, make sure that gets on a podcast so that mom can play it for everybody. All right, we'll talk to you later. What a cutie pie. And I usually hate kids, but that kid seems like he's a cute kid. I hate my own kids. I don't know why that. Dad? Sorry. um all right sounds familiar this is the mojo in the morning show 104.5 snx 92.5 kiss fm and of course the flagship channel 955 megan uh you have a story to tell but i want to just uh solicit before you you tell the story

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 2:

how soon is too soon to move on in relationships? What's going on?

01:30:07 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

So I was talking to my girlfriend yesterday, and I know she's listening right now. I'm not going to say your name, but if you're listening and you want to talk about this, we will voice disguise you if you call in. But her and I were texting back and forth, and I thought I would just, like, redo the text message because she's having this issue with her friend. She said she's been super stressed out about this. Long story short, good friends of ours, the husband died this past July our sons are best friends and she's been more distant lately but of course the boys have been wanting to hang out she keeps saying that she has plans during the weekend or is busy not really telling me what's going on well neither of her kids have phones so she went on the iPad check the messaging on there and her son told my friend's son that his mom has a new boyfriend and told her son not to tell her because she wants to quote unquote tell me herself but if that's the case why are you avoiding her why haven't you gotten together in person for the kids to hang out and tell her um but i the whole thing just kind of seems weird but it's hasn't even been a year and she wants to call her out but doesn't know you know like if she should or I don't know Less than a year So how did

01:31:22 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 2:

So the kid actually Kids are smart aren't they And they're not like

01:31:27 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 3:

I mean they're little but they're not like They're older than that They figure it out

01:31:34 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 2:

They can hear everything How is it that they can hear through walls You know

01:31:39 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't know

01:31:40 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

So it's been less than a year Since she split with No, he died. Or dies. He died.

01:31:47 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 3:

Last July.

01:31:48 - 01:31:49 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:31:50 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Yeah. But is that, don't you want them to be happy, though?

01:31:53 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 4:

Nine months?

01:31:55 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

01:31:56 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah.

01:31:57 - 01:31:58 | Speaker 2:

I think you want them to be happy.

01:31:59 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but, I mean, we were just talking about grief. I feel like we're always talking about that. But I feel like the passing of someone is a different way of grieving than if something happened in the relationship that forced you all to separate. Yeah. And I don't know how he died, if it was sudden or if it was expected. That's what I was.

01:32:15 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 4:

If they were my age, I would assume it was sudden. Or if he was dealing with, like, a cancer or an illness or something, and this has been the past two years of her life, you know, I don't, because that would figure into it. Because just off the bat, I'd be like, oh, gosh, under a year, that seems really soon to me. But what do I know? I've never been in that situation. And, Mojo, you and I know somebody, and we just mentioned her last week as well, Gina, who I think after her husband's death and her new husband's wife's death, I think they got together and got married, if I'm not mistaken, pretty quickly. and said that they were the recipient of a lot of judgment but now fast forward you know how many

01:32:49 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 2:

years later they're very happily married still and so and i i will tell you when my mom passed my dad was dating less than a year he was seeing somebody less than a year and it was so weird for us as young kids to to know that yeah or and my sisters were like not young they were like just just out of high school i actually look at it now and think man thank god my dad had somebody so

01:33:13 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 3:

fast well that okay so mine isn't a death right it was just a pretty nasty divorce but watching my dad not move on and not like holding on to my mom but like just not wanting to date because we were teenagers and like wanting us to grow up and then experience it makes me sad now to think about

01:33:29 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 2:

it like why wouldn't you go out and find your person i have uh somebody that's in our life that uh his wife tragically died in a really horrible accident and i still don't see him dating or doing anything and i think he's just focused on his kids and this is years later and i wonder how that does affect the kids because i feel like the kids like i feel like the one thing that you as a child is you want to see your parent happy isn't that what rick moranis did i the guy that the old actor

01:33:59 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 3:

honey i shrink the kids his wife died and he like left hollywood and didn't date again oh really i

01:34:03 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 2:

don't know that i don't even know that story that's a blast from the past i don't think gene

01:34:07 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 3:

milder dated after what's her face yeah after she died either yeah i well you know what's funny is

01:34:12 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 2:

i i volunteered for years at gilda's house and i remember them telling stories all the time about gene would come into town he always seemed so sad when he would come to gilda's house in royal oak uh carla uh what's up how you doing hi good morning how are you guys good morning what's

01:34:28 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

going on good morning so uh we had uh in my family my aunt had suddenly passed away and it was like tragic for all of us. She was best friends of my parents and her husband as well. And about four months, I think it was after she passed, my uncle came to tell us all that he had met someone. And like they had been married for like 48 years, I think it was. So like we were all like really kind of hurt, but then I kind of flipped it the other way.

01:35:00 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 4:

where I think he had depended on her and she had depended on him their whole entire lives. And you go every day with this routine and you don't have that person anymore. So I think for him, it wasn't about finding love, but just companionship. I think that's it. I mean, I'm sure that it's romantic and that's fine. This woman, she's lovely, but she'll never replace who we had our whole entire lives. And it's still hard being around this woman. And it's nothing against her, But it's just, yeah, grief is such a funny thing. And it's just, I think it's such a personal decision on how soon you get to move forward. For sure. And where you are in your life.

01:35:41 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 3:

I feel like everybody who has never experienced that, especially when it comes to the death of a significant other thinks, we all look at it going, oh, they've moved on. They've moved on. And I've heard so many people who have dealt with this say, you don't ever move on, but you need to live on.

01:35:58 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 1:

yeah that's good you know so and i think your situation with your uh these people that you know they're young and i think sometimes it's not so much even the companionship at that age it's the thought of i gotta raise these kids by myself i need i want so i want yeah i don't want

01:36:16 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 7:

to dive like too deep into this but i'm very curious so and i don't want this to come off as judgmental but i think we also have the friend who jumps into something just because they're scared to be alone or maybe it's not the best situation or they don't want to raise the kids it's not necessarily the right person which I think happens I think when we talk about the couple that we know that got married after both of their spouses pass like it wasn't because of a need or whatever sometimes you just find that person and that's cool but sometimes I think we see our friends rush into something and we're like it is this because we like that person or is this like a a quick response that might not be the best long term let's hope that it just is

01:36:59 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 1:

dating right now and doesn't run into something you know like marriage or something she might be

01:37:04 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 7:

worried about getting judged for jumping into the super fast which i totally understand but my cousin's um boyfriend was uh unfortunately murdered and she didn't date again for like seven years and people judged her for not dating you're damned if you do and you're damned if you

01:37:20 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 1:

don't right i do think though because the kid found this out i don't know if if i was the friend if i would say anything though i would stay i think i would let the kids be the ones to bring

01:37:28 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 5:

it up what's up angela hi good morning everybody love you all good morning we love you too hold on

01:37:34 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 1:

i'm lacking with my we love you too there you go yeah thank you vonda um no my dad uh we lost my

01:37:41 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 6:

mom in 2017 my parents were well into their 60s or their 70s excuse me and six months i still remember the day I went over to my dad's house he asked me to come over he said I need you to take a picture for me I said what do you want a picture for he says because I'm gonna both do online dating I said dad you're like you're 75 years old what do you need to online date for mom's not even gone six months and it just killed me so much and he found a girlfriend right away um he's gone through like three different ladies um I don't like his current one um and it's really just the companionship i get that yeah but it's just it killed me it was six months my parents were married almost 40 years but here's the thing i will say this to you he's 70 years old i don't you know what i mean like he's almost 80 he's almost 80 in december now

01:38:29 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 1:

and honestly at that age you sit there and go how much more life do i have left i want to live my life with somebody in my life what is that commitment realistically and by the way can We got his number from Megan.

01:38:41 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 6:

Megan, you could date.

01:38:42 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Megan could be your stepmother. What do you think?

01:38:44 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 6:

No, Megan, that's my inheritance.

01:38:50 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? How you doing, Lisa? How are you?

01:38:53 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Good. How are you?

01:38:54 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 1:

Good. This is Lisa. Lisa, when did your husband pass away?

01:38:59 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 2:

My husband was killed in June in a motorcycle accident. Oh, my goodness.

01:39:03 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

And what are your thoughts on this?

01:39:05 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 2:

With my 12-year-old, with my grandson on the back of it. thankfully my grandson's okay um so you know the thing with my husband and i is we have had discussions about what we would want for each other if something happened to the other one um because he did have some medical problems and you know looking down the line if something were to happen what did we want for each other and one of the things that we both agreed on was that you know we don't want you to be alone we didn't want the other one to be alone we wanted them to feel you know be happy and move on and um in this situation you know there's a finality to that relationship it's it's almost not it's a different grieving process because I've been divorced in the past too and it's a different grieving process completely because it's something that's not going to change there's no going back to it Thank you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 1:

it's over and it's, it's gone. And it's not that I didn't love my husband so deeply because I did, but, you know, you almost in some ways kind of grieve, you know, that relationship in a different way. And the fact that, you know, you miss that companionship, you miss that, you know, being able to laugh with somebody and, you know, go out and do things. Um, so it was in the fall, i started dating again okay um and i've actually been in that same relationship now for about five

01:40:33 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 3:

months wait so so real quick he passed or he died in tragically in june fall you actually that so

01:40:40 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 1:

that was a pretty quick time it was and i do have i have five children two of them are adults in their late 20s and then i have three teenagers that still live here at home how did they take it so it took them a while that they each looked at it differently and they each accepted it differently um at this point they're all fine with it and so is my husband's um three stepchildren who are adults in their 30s okay um one who lives with me here um and they've you know accepted him and we now do like you know family game nights together and you know everybody has embraced that relationship but you know i some people i have a friend who's husband killed you know it's been a year in november she still can't bring herself to date so it's just different for everybody yeah listen you're right you're damned if you do and damned if you don't because i have been judged for moving on too quickly but nobody can speak to what you feel and what your relationship was and what was discussed between, you know, my husband and I as a couple. So I felt confident and I felt okay and I felt secure because I knew what my husband wanted for me.

01:42:00 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 3:

Lisa.

01:42:01 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 1:

And that allowed me to be able to move forward.

01:42:03 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for sharing this with us because I know it ain't easy and I know coming up on a year it's going to be even tougher. So, man, our thoughts to you and just know that we're thinking of you.

01:42:17 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

01:42:18 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's a tragic, sad story. And, you know, it's nice to see that she's able just to even get out of the house. Some people just become so, you know. Loft in the situation. Yeah. And then there's Hannah. Hannah, are you there?

01:42:34 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 5:

On a way lighter note, I told my husband I would totally haunt him if he does not wait two years.

01:42:43 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 4:

You got a time.

01:42:44 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 5:

I told him, you better run up those stairs because I'm looking at you from downstairs.

01:42:52 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 3:

So if he suddenly falls down the stairs, you know exactly who pushed him, huh? Great. All right.

01:42:59 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 4:

Have a good day, everybody. You too.

01:43:02 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 2:

Nothing unleashes stupidity more than that person in front of you in the drop-off line for school.

01:43:09 - 01:43:11 | Unknown:

Stop the drop-off, moron!

01:43:11 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 2:

Come on, get that kid out of the car faster. Mojo's got a show to do. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:43:19 - 01:43:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know what that music means? Happy 3-1-3 day. And the Detroit Pistons celebrating tonight. And we're very excited because Pistons superstar, Jalen Duren, is on the Mojo in the Morning show. Put your hands together.

01:43:39 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 4:

Put your hands together.

01:43:41 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning. Are you there? Good morning. Good morning. Listen to that voice. Look at that.

01:43:50 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever thought about doing radio after your basketball career? Good morning.

01:43:56 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 3:

Jalen, do you ever karaoke at all? Because you should karaoke any song that has like a Barry White or some deep voice in it.

01:44:03 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 4:

I didn't even say that. That's good stuff. No, I've never karaoke. That's just the waking up voice.

01:44:09 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 3:

The amazing thing is, I look at you, and everything about you does not seem like a normal 20-year-old. You're 20 years old, right? Am I right in saying that? 21. 21. Just turned 21. Okay. When did you turn 21? When was your birthday? November 18th. Wow. What did you do with your fake ID? Or did you ever have a fake ID? No, I never. Unfortunately, I never had one. I only had my real one. Man. So it's funny because I look at you and I see, you know, you're 21 years old and yet everything about you, you could probably not have to worry about a fake ID. They probably wouldn't even card you because you look like you're, you know, 5, 10 years older than you actually are. Yeah, I've heard that a couple of times. Man, and you play basketball like nothing I've ever seen before. We're so excited that you're a Piston.

01:45:07 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 1:

Yes, sir. I appreciate that, man. That means a lot.

01:45:09 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 3:

You know, it's funny. I watch all the post-game stuff with you guys. You guys truly seem more connected than any teams I've seen in the past. Like, you guys seem like a family, you and the rest of the guys, Cade and everybody.

01:45:26 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, man, I mean, we're like brothers. I think, you know, I really think it's because a lot of the guys who've been here, especially over the last couple years, you know, we're all around the same age. You know, we're all like one, two years apart. So it was kind of easy to relate to everybody and kind of build a connection early on. And I feel like most of us, like we always talk about how we kind of been through high school together. Like at certain times, we kind of crossed paths before the NBA. So the connection kind of always been there, but now we're kind of all together. And it's, you know, it's driving.

01:46:00 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 3:

It's that AAU thing too, right? In college and stuff. You guys all end up, you know each other, you play against each other, you know, you kind of know where everybody's going to go to school and then eventually get drafted and stuff. Do you guys live right by each other here in town? Or do you guys, you know, like, why do I picture that you guys are so close, you guys all live in the same condo complex or something, you know?

01:46:22 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 1:

Nah, it's not like that I mean, we all When we go out separate Everybody has their families and whatnot But we spend so much time at the facilities And on the road that We get enough of each other So it's good to kind of have that Your down time and get away from the team

01:46:40 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 3:

That's good You know, Kevin is here right now This guy who Gets the crowd all crazy He and Mason Get everybody nuts Kevin, you get to work with these guys on a daily basis, these players. In all the years that you've been with the Pistons, have you ever seen a team chemistry like this?

01:47:00 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 2:

No, and I mean, just comparing it to last year, I think this year with the addition of the veteran guys, you got Malik and Tobias and Tim and Paul, guys, you know, Dennis now joining the team. I think it's allowed for our guys to see what leadership looks like. And like he said, the camaraderie, man, you just can't. You can't deny it when you see it. I mean, the dog pound. And, I mean, J.D. in particular, man, I want to ask you, what is the difference between you personally this year and last year? Like, you were a beast last year, but this year it's like you a guaranteed walking double-double every single night.

01:47:34 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I would credit that to just, you know, growing, learning more about the game, watching film. I would credit that to my teammates. You know, I can't say it's just me, my teammates, my coaching staff, You know, just helping me develop into a better player. You know what I mean? I hope to continue taking strides, and this is the only good beginning.

01:47:57 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 3:

And Coach Bickerstaff gets you guys. Like, I feel like he's having fun with you guys, too. Like, it seems like you guys, even on the bench, you guys are goofing a little bit more. Last year just felt like everybody was uncomfortable.

01:48:12 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, JB, JB, he's my guy, man. Now, J.B. is a great person, first and foremost. He's a great man. He's a great leader, more than just a coach. I would say the funniest thing about J.B. when it comes to that stuff is kind of like I feel like I've seen an interview and he had talked about how there's two personalities on and off the court. And that couldn't have been more true for me just kind of being around him. You know, off the court, he's like a, you know, he's happy, he's chill, really calm, cool, collected guy. But, man, once we get in between those lines, he's coaching, man, the intensity rises to another level. And I think that we feed off that. And I think, you know, that's just a testament to the coach that he is and what he's brought to this team.

01:48:57 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 3:

Man, if you looked at this radio show, Kevin, am I the JD or am I the Cade? Are you the –

01:49:05 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 1:

Kev's going, can I say no? Are you the Jalen?

01:49:09 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

What is Shannon? Who's Shannon? Is she the dentist? I mean, who is she? I would definitely say you, Kay. You get the offense mixing. Okay. But when you're ready to score and take over the game, you can definitely do that. I can go and do it. I would say I'm Isaiah Stewart. I'm all about, you know, protecting my people that's on the show. And if I need to act up and get a little wild and put that energy out there, you know it's coming. Okay. Shannon, I would say, is Jaden Ivey. She's reliable. She's consistent. When she's in the game, you know what you're going to get for her. Thanks, Cam. I would say Megan is Malik Beasley. when Megan is shooting, you know it's going in. When Megan's pulling up, you can get it. And she'll hit you with a little shimmy when she gets in. Oh, my God. Thank you. I was going to say, as soon as you asked Mojo who you were, I was like, you're not Jalen because Jalen has these fire fits. I'm not going to lie. I'm not really a sports person. Sorry, Jalen. But I.

01:50:00 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 4:

I will say your Instagram truly is lit with the fits that you're putting together. Are you putting those together, like, on game day? Or do you have somebody that's doing that for you? Because I swear to God, like, it is the best Instagram of any athlete I've ever seen.

01:50:14 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate that. But, no, it is me. I won't say I'm not too consistent with them quick to throw on a sweatsuit. But, you know, whenever I'm in the mood, I definitely try to put something together.

01:50:26 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I will say this, though. one thing and making you like this a little known fact about jaylen is he's a dog lover i don't think a lot of people know that talk about your dogs man oh man those like they

01:50:38 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 3:

they're my world honestly i mean they're like my kids like i i they they're everything i don't even know how to explain i feel like if you have dogs you understand kind of where i'm coming from we're psychos yeah yeah yeah it's like they they get everything you know they you know they chew up stuff and i don't even get mad anymore really and they're all the toys they want have they ever

01:51:03 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 1:

chewed up anything important for you like you know you're you're like your shoes or anything like

01:51:08 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 3:

that oh yeah yeah yeah yeah all the time it got it got to the point where it's kind of like i just i've learned to kind of be more responsible and not leave anything and get it yeah but i mean i I love them. I got a Cane Corso and a Labrador Retriever.

01:51:23 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 4:

Damn, Cane Corso's are huge.

01:51:25 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 1:

Who watches when you're on the road? Like, you just had that long road trip. Who's taking care of the dogs?

01:51:32 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 3:

So, between I have a dog sitter that I've been working with for years, and she's been kind enough to watch them over the last few years, and she has a great system and program, or just, you know, family. That's good. I've been in a family town that kind of helps me out.

01:51:47 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 5:

Do you baby talk your dogs in that deep voice? Because everybody has a different voice that they talk to their dogs with. It is true. You can't deny that.

01:51:56 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy because I do find myself, like, not even thinking about it, just baby talking. Like you said, coming off the road, like a long road trip, I haven't seen him in a while. Yeah, I'm for sure a baby.

01:52:07 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what does it sound like? I want to hear it. Come on.

01:52:09 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 3:

I cannot.

01:52:11 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 1:

Drawing the line. I want a post-game interview. Jalen, I have to tell you, I think it was you.

01:52:21 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 5:

I was getting a pedicure maybe a week or two ago, and I think you were sitting in the pedicure chair next to me.

01:52:30 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 3:

I could have been. It depends on where it was at. I could have been.

01:52:33 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I think it was you. I think it was you because the guy across kept saying, Jalen, Jalen, Jalen, and talking to you, and he wouldn't leave you alone, and you were being so kind back. So I came in and I told Kev, I was like, I think I got a paddock here next to Jalen Dern yesterday. And this guy was just asking question after question. And you were just really, really nice back to him.

01:52:56 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that could have been me. You know what? She said you had cute toes.

01:53:00 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 5:

I said I tried not to look. That would have been creepy.

01:53:03 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, that's good. Jalen, 3-1-3 day means a lot to the city. And I love that the Pistons every year play. We're giving away an autographed Jalen Dern jersey. So we got that. So we appreciate you. Oh, yeah. They're going to be asking you to sign it in about five seconds here. So we'll get that from you. So appreciate that. And let's bring home another victory. Let's get another victory. Let's go to the playoffs. Let's have some fun, man. Let's mix it up a little bit. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Hey, let's do it, man. Let's do it. Hey, a question for you. Because the last time we had a winner as a Pistons fan was back, you know, when we had Chauncey and Rip and, you know, Rasheed and Chayshon and all those guys. I don't know. How old were you at that time? How old were you in 05?

01:53:53 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. What was that, 04, 05? Yeah. Man, one or two.

01:53:58 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 1:

So you don't even remember those guys. So it's that long ago.

01:54:04 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, I can't see him in line and act like I was remembering things that they did. Kind of like watching live? No, I don't remember. But, you know, as I got older and got into basketball, I was able to kind of go back and watch.

01:54:16 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 1:

Because the wildest part about that team was that team was built around the city. Like, it was built for, you know, what Detroit's all about. You know, the grit that you hear everybody talking about with the Lions and stuff like that. Your team right now is the youthful grit. So, that's the part that, like, you guys are scrappy. I would not mess around if I was somebody. I wouldn't want to play you guys first round of a playoff series.

01:54:41 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, we're going to get at it, man. We go out there and we leave everything on the line. We understand, like you said, it's kind of like what the city is built on, hard work, kind of getting it out the mud. So we embody that, and I feel like we all kind of played a chip on our shoulders, so it just, you know, came together well.

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

And we got to give it up for him. He woke up.

01:55:00 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Burley with us today. I hope that you're well-rested before game time, so just make sure you get rest, okay? Yes, sir. I appreciate y'all having me, man. Jalen Durant, hey, anytime. These airwaves are yours. Anytime you need to promote anything or do anything, you come on with us, okay? I appreciate that, man.

01:55:20 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:56:00 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

All right. We are doing the Dirty on the 30 right now. War of the Roses in 30 minutes from now. The most notorious cheater ever. More people heard this man cheat and witnessed it right here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. You will hear that at 9 o'clock. What's going on, Chan?

01:56:18 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 1:

So Selena Gomez is being called out after accidentally selling her diamond B ring. B as in Benny Blanco. to multiple fans despite listing it as a limited edition item. Item, singular, multiple fans bought this ring. Think about that for a second. So she has been promoting personal, very sentimental items to her fans to tie in with the release of her upcoming album, I Said I Love You First with her fiance. So on Monday, Selena lists this ring that she was wearing on social media when she first announced her relationship with Benny back in 2023 this little b diamond pave ring and so like everybody wanted to buy this thing but were confused when everybody who got one online was starting to post about it and they're like but wait a second if it was the ring that she wore how do you have one yeah and how do you have one so those who purchased the ring were then notified that there had been a website error here is how they spun it and they would be fully refunded or people who are bragging about having the ring you know got their money back but that's how it was discovered i love when people buy things

01:57:32 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

and it's like this is one of 50 and then you find out that somebody's got the same actually one of

01:57:37 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 1:

5 000 yeah the late dean hackman's dogs were the ones who led first responders to the actor's dead body inside of his new mexico home last month this is the latest update we're getting to this story Bear and Nikita are the two surviving dogs that Gene shared with his wife, Betsy. And they were left wandering around his property in Santa Fe for days before help arrived and discovered the body. So some sort of door, I think it was like a back door that was left open so they could go inside and outside freely. Well, first responders arrived at the couple's home. They noticed these two dogs. They were there for about a half an hour before they realized that the dog's strange behavior, the barking and them trying to lead them to a different area of the home, wasn't them just wanting to play. They were actually trying to show them something, as in the dead bodies of Gene and Betsy. The couple's third dog, by the way, Zena, a 12-year-old Australian Kelpie mix, was found dead inside of a locked dog crate, which just makes me so sad. I have an update on that Oakland County mom accused of abandoning her three kids in that filthy home in Pontiac. This is a big story. Horrible story. Big story that started off being local to our Detroit listeners and now has since gone national. But she was given three additional charges yesterday. 34-year-old Kelly Marie Bryant facing three counts of first-degree child abuse after police said they found three of her kids, a 15-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and a 12-year-old girl. She is now facing a total of six charges because Karen McDonald, who is the Oakland County prosecutor, is now charging her with three counts of welfare fraud as well. So they were reviewing her support payments made by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. And they just realized that she had abandoned her kids but was still collecting assistance.

01:59:37 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you another story here right now? There's a new breaking story this morning that's very similar to that story, but even weirder, about a stepmother who locked her stepson into his room for decades. What? And the guy is now ready for this. This has been for like two decades. She locked him in starting when he was like 11 years old.

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 7:

finally got out at 31. Take a listen to this story. Prosecutor in Connecticut calls the case

02:00:05 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

something out of a horror movie. A woman accused of locking her stepson in his bedroom for more than 20 years with little food or water. Authorities say to get out, the man used hand sanitizer and paper to set his room on fire so he'd be rescued. It was like a bright orange, like it was just intense, the flame. According to court documents, the 32-year-old said he was locked in his room since he was 11. Police say he was emaciated, weighing just 68 pounds, claiming he drank from the toilet because he was given only two glasses of water per day, and saying he could only leave the 8x9 room for short periods to do chores. His stepmother, Kimberly Sullivan, now under arrest. Her lawyer says police have it all wrong. He was not locked in a room. She did not restrain him in

02:00:48 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 3:

any way. She provided food. She provided shelter. She is blown away by these allegations.

02:00:56 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 2:

Court records show the man's school contacted authorities when he was in fourth grade, but he was eventually pulled from the school. Sullivan's lawyer says the man's father lived at the home but recently died.

02:01:06 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

He was the biological father. He's the one that dictated how his son would be raised. We think as the evidence comes out, you will see that she's not the villain she's being made out to be.

02:01:16 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, she's not the villain. Bull crap. She still kept him in there even after the dad died. And the guy's 31 years old, and he had the light hand sanitizer in order to get out of there.

02:01:25 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 4:

That is a horrible story.

02:01:27 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to say this to you guys. That story that took place in Pontiac, this story, you know how many there must be out there of this situation?

02:01:35 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 5:

Do you remember the Florida couple that had their son locked in an 8x8 box in the garage?

02:01:39 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 7:

Or how about the Ohio family? Do you remember that Ohio family where the sisters were locked in a—that was years and years ago?

02:01:44 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 4:

But here's what this tells me. There needs to be a better system when it comes to our schools reporting kids not being around. Because, you know, in certain cases where, oh, you know, kids left one school and you just assume they've transferred to another school. But then we find out that something like this happened. There needs to be some sort of system in place. We need nosy neighbors too. So that these kids aren't falling through the cracks.

02:02:09 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, yeah. And I see people bitching about this on Facebook all the time. I'm like, oh, I'm facing a court date because my kid misses so much school. This is why.

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This is why.

02:02:19 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 4:

And I'll end on a lighter, very weird note. Do you got a light note here? Yeah. A Pennsylvania man was caught hiding a live turtle in the crotch of his pants and trying to sneak it past TSA in New Jersey.

02:02:31 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 6:

TSA workers thought they had seen it all, and then this happened.

02:02:35 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 1:

A man from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, concealed a live turtle in his pants.

02:02:40 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 6:

Look at that. He did.

02:02:41 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 1:

The animal was wrapped in a blue towel. Oh, they got a flirty vibe with each other. That's a lot to pack in your pants. TSA conducted a pat-down Friday at Newark Liberty International when the man's body scanner alarm went off.

02:02:52 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 6:

Officers confiscated the turtle, which did not appear to be harmed. Port Authority police escorted the man from the checkpoint area, and he missed his flight. It is unclear if the man kept the turtle as a pet and why it was in his pants.

02:03:06 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how would you like to sit next to that on a plane, huh? Where's Franklin?

02:03:12 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 4:

Wait, let me pick it. Okay. All right. The winner. I get so serious about it. Sierra from Detroit Basketball. I thought you were wrong here.

02:04:23 - 02:04:24 | Unknown:

What? I know.

02:04:25 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 7:

Congratulations to you. I can't hear you. You got a bad cell phone. Thank you. There you are. There you are. You're in between all the static. Thank you, Ty. Thank you. Happy 3-1-3 day. Congratulations to you.

02:04:38 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 6:

I know.

02:04:39 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 7:

Hang on the phone.

02:04:40 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 6:

Thank you so much.

02:04:42 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 7:

We'll get some information from you, okay?

02:04:44 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 5:

Okay, thank you.

02:04:45 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 7:

All right, don't go anywhere. We'll be right back. Hold on one second here. Eric, you ready?

02:04:49 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 5:

This is your Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:04:52 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 6:

The first red flag of a lying, cheating, dirtbag husband. He gets mad and calls you crazy when you confront him about the girl he's been texting. Another war of the roses.

02:05:00 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 1:

This is After 9 on Mojo in the Morning. This is President Donald Trump, and thanks to Mojo, I'm putting a tariff on people that pretend to listen to the conversation they're having. I'm going to bankrupt Mojo in a day. One day.

02:05:17 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 5:

You know I'm a chicken fried A cold beer on a Friday night A pair of jeans that fit just right And a radio

02:05:37 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, getting ready for St. Patrick's Day. We're going to kick it off this weekend, Saturday, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We're going to celebrate. Got a big tent set up downtown at Calder Plaza, where we're going to be doing Irish Off I Own Ya. And then Monday, special edition of the Mojo in the Morning Show. We're going to be partying at all the Irish pubs in the Detroit area. Excited for that.

02:06:22 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask you a question? Yeah. What about this song, Screams Irish Off I Own Ya?

02:06:26 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 2:

To me, it's a drinking song. I just do drinking songs. Like, what's your favorite drinking song? You got one?

02:06:32 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 4:

I would have done, like, Dropkick Murphys.

02:06:35 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's a good one, but I'm saving it for tomorrow, because we've got one tomorrow. That's super fair. For some reason, I don't know, country music makes me want to drink. Country music, and then OK Live.

02:06:46 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 4:

Come on, someone's a great car. I can get behind this.

02:06:50 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what? They start playing stuff like this on Saturday in that tent.

02:06:55 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 5:

Two, two, three, to the floor. Everybody drunk out on the dance floor. Baby girl ass jiggle like she want more.

02:07:01 - 02:07:19 | Unknown:

Like she a groupie and I ain't even no tour Maybe cause she heard that I rhyme hardcore Maybe cause she heard that I buy out the stores Bottom of the ninth and the city got the score If not, I gotta move on to the next floor Here comes the three to the two to the one Homeboy trippin', he don't know I got a gun

02:07:19 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 2:

When it come to pop and we do this for fun DJ, four fingers, we're in a drinking mix right now Now I'm in the back getting clean from my mind Where's the bourbon cream? Come on! Should we drink some of the... What's up? I know! Let's take a shot for 3-1-3 day Let's do it, come on Let's have a cocktail, a little Irish whiskey Everybody in the club getting tipsy Oh, come on now

02:07:47 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, let's do it

02:07:50 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 2:

I still like this song

02:07:51 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't care, I've heard it 2,022 times I still like it The only time Zach runs in the studio this fast

02:08:00 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 2:

is when we have porn stars as guests or alcohol opens up. Yeah.

02:08:07 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 3:

One, here comes the two to the three, to the four. Tell them bring another hour, we need plenty more. Who's stepping on the table, she don't need a dance floor. Oh my, good Lord. Someone will call me up a double shot of whiskey. They know me and Jay, they've got a history. There's a party downtown near Fifth Street. Everybody at the market

02:08:30 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hey, come on. Here we go. We're going to have a cocktail. Ooh, that smells. By the way, excited to see Jay Towers morning show broadcasting from here this morning, too. I like it, Jay.

02:08:47 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what is he a case in?

02:08:48 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Jay normally broadcasts from his Fox 2 Southfield Studios and does the show with doing his TV show, but it's 313 day, So I think he wanted to be in Detroit.

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, nice.

02:08:59 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think he wanted to be in here. Tanisha, do you know who Jay Towers is? Tanisha?

02:09:06 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hello? How do you know it's me?

02:09:09 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 2:

I know it's you, Tanisha. I can tell when you're calling me. I got caller ID. We do have caller ID. Tanisha?

02:09:14 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have been trying to get in contact with y'all for so long because I haven't heard from my favorite radio station. And I don't know how long. And I just wanted to hear you guys' voices.

02:09:24 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're hearing me right now. How are you? Happy almost St. Patrick's Day. Happy 3-1-3 Day.

02:09:30 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey, right. We need a couple drinks going. Come on down and say hi.

02:09:35 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Come on down and say hi to us, okay? 3-1-3 Day. It's an open bar today in honor of the day that the city was made on. By the way, when was the city made? I don't know. I think you just made that up.

02:09:47 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 5:

It's 3-1-3 Day because it's 3-1-3.

02:09:52 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

And that's our area code. Yeah. But I thought the city was made on this day. I didn't know. I don't think so. That would have been appropriate if that was the case.

02:09:59 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Let me see. What was Detroit?

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I actually think we should do for April Fool's Day an April Fool's joke where we come up with some kind of a weird holiday and see if everybody will fall for it.

02:10:08 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 1:

Look, July 24th is, quote unquote, the day that Detroit was founded.

02:10:11 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm thinking April the 1st, we should do it for April Fool's Day and come up with some kind of a day, like it's the day everybody's got to wear some kind of a strange color or something like that.

02:10:22 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

And then you have to post, because you have to post that on social media.

02:10:25 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

July 24th is a Thursday. We could do something.

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 3:

All right. Mojo in the morning. A toast? Toast. To bust up.

02:10:33 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 1:

Come on, 3-1-3 day, baby. 3-1-3. I don't know. I don't know why I do that. L'chaim.

02:10:40 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 3:

Mazel tov.

02:10:42 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 1:

Or not.

02:10:44 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's good.

02:10:45 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 1:

I can tell you why I say L'chaim, and it's very stupid. Fiddler on the roof, baby. Oh, yeah.

02:10:51 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, and I can tell you why I say Mazel tov, because the black-eyed peas. Yeah, baby. I got a feeling. all right mojo in the morning show uh so you are you busted him lying to you uh there uh shannon

02:11:05 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 2:

um i or did you not bust him yet or you don't know if he's lying i don't know if he's lying well he's lying i haven't busted him but for sure he's lying so i am our household is one of the the very lucky and the many that have been hit by i think the norovirus is what we're dealing with this week so Smith was the first to go down loose went down yesterday and I got a text about 20 minutes ago that our babysitter is the latest to go down so it is like passing through us you stay the hell away from mad so I have been cleaning up chunky bar for four days now and just when I think that we are in the clear there is more barf so it's my car the couch the rug the carpet in bedrooms the shower the bathroom floor bath towels like no other forever you can get that thing as detailed as you want you'll still yeah i already took care of my car but blankets more blankets more bowls than i can count buckets the couch i mean like it has just been non-stop and uncontrollable and i feel so bad for these poor kids because it's just it's a nasty one um but So, like, I'm in the thick of this, trying to clean it all up, and Wes has all of a sudden told me that magically, I am just finding out, that he can't be around barf without barfing. Sure. So, he can't help me. And how long have you guys been together, since dating? I mean, we've known each other since we started dating in the end of 2021. So, four years? this is the first time it's coming up no here's the funny thing he took care of me when i had norovirus when we were visiting his homeland of canada two years ago oh i borrowed a projectile yes it's different in canada did uh um that's gonna be the excuse he uses have you asked his

02:12:59 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 3:

kids if at all when they were kids did they ever have their dad clean up after him or was it their

02:13:05 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 2:

mom uh that's oh great i did not ask them you should i would ask them because they like they team that side with you on everything they do i love them yeah i love that but this is one of those entrance instances of pretending that you can't do something so that you don't have to do

02:13:24 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 3:

it you know that is a very uh relationship type thing we're in a relationship one person likes to pretend that they don't know how to do something to get out of it 844 mojo live 844 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. What if you just left it there and just waited for him to see if he would pick it up?

02:13:44 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 2:

This topic has been planned all morning before my babysitter had to leave, and Wes now is not going into the office and taking care of Loose. So I'm really, really grateful.

02:13:55 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, don't push him.

02:13:55 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:13:56 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Wow. It's weird how it goes to everybody, doesn't it? Like you think that somebody's not going to get it at all. Wow. And I love, by the way, family situations like yours where you guys share the kids and stuff. If I were like a dad, you know, if I'm with, I am a dad, but if I, Chelsea and I were divorced, I would want this to happen. Like the kids get sick when I'm handing them off to you.

02:14:20 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 1:

It always happens like that.

02:14:21 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 2:

I know. Well, and it's hard too because my stepkids have been with us all weekend and they, today is the first day that they'll go home from school to their mom's house. So I've been checking in or no, it was yesterday, but I've been checking in on the days are all like blending together at this point because I haven't been sleeping, but, um, I, I've been checking on them cause I'm like, who's still standing here? Like, who has this taken down?

02:14:43 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever, like if, if it were, would, would you be mad if they were sick at your house and it was time to transfer them over to their dads and their dad said, Hey, why don't you keep them for a couple more days to keep that?

02:14:53 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 2:

We try, we try to do that so that it doesn't get passed between houses. Am I a bad dad? saying i don't want my kids when i had covid my ex-husband did not want that he did not want lucent smith at his house and i at first i was so mad because i'm like i'm so sick but at the

02:15:12 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 5:

same time i really i understood taylor what's up okay i just want to say i resonate with west because i um am pregnant and due in the summer and my husband keeps telling me if i want to stay home um i can and i said i cannot i'm gonna keep working and i'm a nurse but because i cannot be the one home if our kid gets sick i need him to take a sick day yeah because i can't be around

02:15:40 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 8:

the puke well yeah you're a nurse and she's pregnant though right no but she's saying after

02:15:47 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 3:

the baby comes you're a nurse and you can't be around puke i think you lie ah i can see blood

02:15:53 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 7:

We always run to get the medicine while someone else gets the puke bucket.

02:15:58 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. You know what? You clean up blood and stuff like that at work. What's up, Rebecca?

02:16:05 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 6:

Hey, my husband recently woke me up at 2 o'clock in the morning to tell me that the dog trapped and puked all over the floor. I'm like, flipping, clean it up. He's like, no, that's not my job. I'll puke if I have to do that. Divorce. Divorce. one of these days i'm gonna pick it up and put it in this pillow

02:16:30 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 8:

i want to see that when that happens sarah what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

02:16:37 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 7:

hey good morning first time long awesome guys um when i was pregnant with my first baby i told my husband that i couldn't clean the toilets because it would affect my pregnancy and he believed it for several months until his co-worker who was a female gave me away and ratted me out oh that is such bullcrap

02:17:04 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 4:

she's not a girl's girl she is not a girl's girl because that's so interesting you say that because i am an independent woman who lives alone and can take out her trash until a boy is around and then i'm just a girl i can't do that i don't know how by the way by the way though for some reason when

02:17:20 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 8:

chelis was pregnant i would do it i would fall for it because for some reason he's carrying the

02:17:23 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 4:

baby i i felt like that hey the real one is the litter box okay that's the real one why don't we

02:17:28 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 8:

have human litter boxes we should just have human litter boxes in our house all right it's a big day it's the two-year anniversary of the most viewed Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses cheater getting busted. This was way back in 2023 and now more than 34 million people have viewed this on TikTok. You can watch all of our War of the Roses on the Channel 955 Detroit TikTok. This is the one that Stacey busted her husband, Todd, cheating on her.

02:18:12 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 9:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:18 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 8:

Stacey thinks that her husband is cheating. You have suspicion that he was taking some other woman out on a date?

02:18:26 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 1:

That's correct.

02:18:28 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 8:

Where did this all come from? How did you start feeling this way?

02:18:32 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know, I've kind of suspected things for a while now, but every time I try to be direct about it, and he would just assure me that it was in my mind.

02:18:44 - 02:18:47 | Speaker 8:

And what was it recently that happened that made you go,

02:18:47 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 1:

okay this is crazy so i had to go pick up my daughter from dance and i couldn't find my keys in my car so i had to take his car and on the way i ended up getting pulled over for speeding and um while i was pulled over i had to go find the registration in the glove compartment and when i was in there i saw a pamphlet for a play that i've been wanting to go to oh like the program

02:19:13 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 8:

playbill yeah so do you think that he's was buying you uh uh tickets to it or something like that you think it could be that he's getting you something you only get that though when you go

02:19:27 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

so yeah so he went of course it's weird because it's the play i wanted to go to but it was the the program that you get like when you actually attend right you think that he went to go to

02:19:39 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 8:

this play but didn't take you and took somebody else?

02:19:46 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I don't know what to think.

02:19:48 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, where else would he get that, though?

02:19:50 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

02:19:50 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 2:

That's the only place you get that is once you're inside the theater and, like, you know, somebody hands it to you.

02:19:55 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 6:

Right.

02:19:55 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 8:

Okay. All right, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Let's see what happens.

02:20:00 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 1:

okay keep your uh phone on mute if you can so do if you have a phone that can mute off your yeah all right no problem all right go ahead do that now and we're hoping that the flowers go to

02:20:12 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Stacy hello hi I am looking for Todd hi Todd my name is Nicole and I'm calling from a new online floral company called roses bloom calm with an offer for some free flowers for you if you have a like less than a minute to answer two survey questions for me we are going to give you a dozen long stemmed red roses that can be sent to the person of your choice anywhere in the country absolutely free of charge to you and i'm just wondering if you have a moment to to take the survey and then get some free flowers yeah sure

02:20:57 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 3:

it's free though it's totally free yep um how is it free uh well i'm not going to ask you for a

02:21:04 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 2:

credit card number or anything like that literally you're just going to answer the two questions and then give me some info about who we're going to send these to and that's it we're just hoping that you'll use rosesbloom.com in the future when you do choose to order flowers um all right okay i guess i got a little time okay um have you purchased flowers in the last six months todd uh no do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months possibly okay as a thank you for participating in our roses bloom.com survey i'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses so let's go ahead and i'm going to get a first and a last name of who you want these to go out to this afternoon all right uh first name is gonna be Shelby okay and last name okay and I need a phone number for Shelby 734 okay and what Shelby's relationship to you okay I'm starting a profile on here in case you're wondering why I'm asking certain questions just so I have it. So hopefully when you order from us in the future, this will be a little bit of a faster process. And Todd, we also offer something unique at rosesbloom.com and that's a digital voice card instead of a paper card. So when the flowers get delivered to Shelby, she's going to receive a text message. It's going to have this little voice note from you. So she'll know who they're from. Just a little bit more personal. Okay. So we're going to go ahead and record that. Okay. And you can say anything you want. If you mess up, we'll start all over again. Okay.

02:22:51 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 2:

Three, two, one.

02:22:57 - 02:23:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, love being with you. Love spending time with you. Thank you.

02:23:05 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And Todd, you don't want to say your name or anything? She'll know who it is, right?

02:23:10 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 3:

I hope so.

02:23:12 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:23:20 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 1:

Um, yeah.

02:23:22 - 02:23:22 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:23:23 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 1:

And Todd, I'm going to come on to just say one last thing to you, okay? And then we will send those flowers off.

02:23:29 - 02:23:30 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:23:31 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 1:

Todd, this is the... Hello. Hi. Todd, this is actually the Mojo and the Morning Show calling. And your wife has been listening into this entire conversation and just heard you send flowers to another woman. Todd, your wife called us up because she was suspecting that you were cheating on her.

02:24:05 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm at a loss of words right now. I'm not sure what to say.

02:24:15 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 1:

Is this woman somebody that you are actually more than just friends with?

02:24:26 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm a little caught off guard here. I'm not too sure what to do or say now. Yes and no.

02:24:41 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 1:

Stacy?

02:24:44 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm here.

02:24:45 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Stacey. Is it set up or something? What is it? Stacey, what do you want?

02:24:55 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 3:

This is an opportunity.

02:25:00 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead, Stacey.

02:25:02 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 5:

This is a chance for you to be honest.

02:25:05 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 7:

About what? About sending flowers to you or to our mother?

02:25:13 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 4:

You didn't send them to her. I've asked you directly if you were in this marriage or not. And you always just make excuses and make me feel ***y.

02:25:30 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 7:

Todd, what she's putting out there is the fact that you are having some kind of a relationship

02:25:54 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 3:

with somebody that's not your wife.

02:26:00 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 7:

Well, there's a lot of things. There's a lot of things involved and reasons why.

02:26:08 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean by reasons why?

02:26:16 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 7:

It's just hasn't been a great few months. These past few months have been great.

02:26:25 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 3:

so that's your that's your excuse for for why you're doing this

02:26:30 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 7:

um i guess there really isn't any excuse to use an excuse is just an excuse but

02:26:38 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 1:

do i feel bad yes um do i feel caught obviously doesn't really feel like you feel bad though you're like laughing this off and kind of downplaying it and saying well it's okay i did this things have been rough oh i mean i haven't cheated on you and just maybe sending

02:27:02 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 4:

someone flowers okay so you've you've never done anything with this other woman that stacy doesn't know about

02:27:11 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 3:

02:31:17 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 3:

I think that the other girl doesn't know that he's married Because he was weird the whole time But he got extra weird once he suggested calling her

02:31:27 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, at first he was kind of seemed like he was, you know Okay, yeah, go ahead and call her, you know what I mean? Or kind of, like, I thought for a second he was gonna

02:31:37 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Because he bro-ed you there for a second

02:31:40 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can't even get that he already gave us the number Like, seems kind of dumb Well, and then he was like, well, I sent flowers to my wife.

02:31:48 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:31:48 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

I didn't. Did you forget that was still us?

02:31:53 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 4:

Laura, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

02:31:57 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, so first off, I have to give a shout out to my son because he said he loves listening to War of the Roses in the Morning from you guys.

02:32:07 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 4:

What's his name? What's your son's name? I'm sorry. What did you say your son's name is?

02:32:15 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

Logan.

02:32:16 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 4:

Logan. I love your laugh, though. That laugh was great. Hello, Logan.

02:32:20 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. You are the best. I love spending time with her, so what are they doing if they're not doing anything sexually?

02:32:31 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:32:31 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:32:32 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Love spending time with you. That's why, honestly, leaving the card is the best, you know, like the message. You get it. What's up, Shannon?

02:32:43 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Hey, good morning, everybody. Good morning. Hey, so I, my ex now, narcissist, but I had to use his car one day, and I had to use the navigation system, and I didn't know how to use it, so I'm pushing all these buttons, and it said recent destinations, and I found all of these random addresses. come to find out it was all his hookups and it was the addresses to his side pieces so

02:33:15 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 4:

oh what an idiot shannon that not you him that is by the way genius of you to go look at that and i was it completely by accident or were you just it was by accident but it was genius and then i

02:33:29 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 2:

I also found all of his passwords and sign-on to all of his dating apps. Wow. That was fun, too.

02:33:38 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Well, we're hoping that you're in a better place right now.

02:33:43 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, definitely, definitely.

02:33:45 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What did you find in his car? Is this Melanin?

02:33:53 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:33:54 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? That's dope. Yeah, that's a cool name.

02:33:57 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 1:

First of all, I want to tell you I love you guys. i listen to you guys every morning oh we love you we love you too thank you and i found a condo you know where the seatbelt is i was looking for my lip gloss and i was like okay i'm gonna look more here and it's just inside the console and i asked somebody like oh no it's my friend i let my friend jogged my car that doesn't make sense that doesn't work yeah no isn't that even weird yes come on it was a co-worker of his he was sleeping with his co-worker That co-worker booty, different. Man, what are you doing, man?

02:34:41 - 02:34:41 | Unknown:

Awkward.

02:34:42 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right, so much, y'all. Thank you. I know. Oh, yeah. Maybe start with that, then.

02:34:48 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 2:

No, I got it.

02:34:51 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 4:

Hi, what's going on? Adam, hi. What did you find in the car?

02:34:56 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Love you guys. Good morning. Oh, we love you, too. My best friend's idea.

02:35:00 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 5:

fiance's car. Whoa, stop for a second. Okay. What? Two weeks before our wedding. Okay, so you find the ID, you question your fiance, what does she say? Or who do you question first, your best friend or your fiance? No, I went to my best friend hoping that he would tell me, but he lied straight to my face. What did he say? How did the ID get in her car? He said, yeah, that must have been a time when we were in it together and I must have dropped it in there. And how did you find out the truth? Because it sounds like you did. Because I don't drive her car.

02:35:32 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 3:

But did she finally come clean, or did he?

02:35:36 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she told me right when I asked her, started up tour. Wow.

02:35:39 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I think that that's heartbreaking because you know that you got to continue to work with this person. Absolutely. Yeah. God, man. And you're about to get married.

02:35:52 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was up.

02:35:54 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 2:

Adam. Adam, Adam, man. We're sorry for that.

02:35:57 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Thank you.

02:35:59 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, buddy. He's got that awkward, uncomfortable, sad laugh. I feel so bad. I don't know how recent it was. Collette, what's up?

02:36:08 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Well, I found a pay-by-the-minute phone in the console of my car. When I charged it and listened to it, there was three separate women who had left messages. One was his high school girlfriend, who was my son's psychiatrist, and it was on my birthday. And they were saying, she was saying, where are you? Where are you?

02:36:28 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I mean, here are these calls that we're getting right now. I mean, that last call in this call, her kid's psychologist, who happened to be somebody that he went to school with.

02:36:41 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 4:

It was my ex-husband's high school girlfriend.

02:36:44 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 2:

Un-frickin'-believable. And all on a burner phone. Jeez. Collette, thanks for calling. Yep, thanks. These are like crazy calls. Voice this guy is Maria. Maria, we're talking about War of the Roses this morning, and what did you find in their car that led you to be suspicious that they were cheating?

02:37:04 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 1:

It was a jewelry receipt from Pandora, and I hate that jewelry. I would never wear that jewelry, and I just happened to take his car, and as I was getting out, my phone happened to drop in his middle council door. It was open, so I went in to grab my phone, and the receipt was stuck to the back of my phone when I brought it out. That's the only reason why I ended up seeing it.

02:37:25 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh. And so what do you say?

02:37:28 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was already suspicious about, I already knew who it was because it was very specific jewelry about a, it was very specific. I knew about it because I already told, you know, my husband at the time, you know, like I wasn't comfortable with her and whatnot. But I took the receipt into the house and I just casually just kind of said to him, I was like, hey, I wish you would have told me you were going to the mall because, you I wanted to go to fat bledics. I just casually bought it up like that, and a few turns white as a ghost.

02:38:00 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

02:38:01 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 1:

That I found, you know, and so that was that.

02:38:05 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's deep. That is wild. All these are great.

02:38:09 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 4:

I wonder what kind of charms he got.

02:38:12 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, so War of the Roses this morning. You might have heard or viewed that one before because that's our most viewed of any of the War of the Roses that we've ever done. More than 34 million people. Update for you, we mentioned earlier this morning, but it's worth re-mentioning that Stacey and Todd are still together. So we wish them well, and a lot of people obviously wonder why, but that's just their story that they want to tell to us. They did not want to go on the radio with us. We tried to get them to go on because it's been two years since we did that War of the Roses, and God love those guys. But could you imagine how many people have seen it that are friends of theirs? 34 million people have already viewed that War of the Roses and their stories out there. All right, giving you a chance to win tickets to go see Tate McRae. Text Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500 for a shot. That is Tate McRae, sold out, and it's just texting Tate, the word Tate, to 95500. Good luck. Standard text and data rates to apply.

02:39:19 - 02:39:21 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

02:39:21 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's going to get us caught up on what's trending. What do you got this hour, Shannon?

02:39:24 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys seen any of the commercials for that Disney live-action remake of Snow White? No. I just saw one yesterday for the first time, huh?

02:39:33 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, of course. It's out in two weeks.

02:39:34 - 02:39:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's out next week. It's out on the 21st. Oh, wow. We're over there? Yeah. So Rachel Zegler is the star of this movie. She is Snow White. Oh, the event. Might know her from West Side Story.

02:39:44 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 2:

This is my kingdom.

02:39:45 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 3:

Do you dare to disobey me? The queen stole it from all of us. Gal Gadot is the evil queen.

02:39:53 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 2:

In theaters March 21st.

02:39:55 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so this is a very controversial remake. It is getting slammed for being...

02:40:00 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 1:

too woke among other things and the whole thing is just very strange to me there's going to be none of the typical hoopla for lack of a better word around a premiere in fact the european premiere was kept top secret even the location was kept top secret no red carpet interviews or anything like that for the film's premiere at the el capitan theater in hollywood this coming saturday perhaps to avoid some tough questions about the backlash and the controversy. Also, I think Disney, a little nervous about it star, Rachel Zegler, who is very outspoken in her support of the Free Palestine movement. So there's that. Critics say the film bears no reflection to the original story whatsoever, at least very little. It's going to be an interesting one.

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 3:

Do they have dwarves?

02:40:47 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 1:

Are the dwarves all there?

02:40:48 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dwarves are in there. Are they different kind of dwarves? Yeah. Oh, really? Yes.

02:40:52 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 4:

It's very sad.

02:40:53 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 3:

Is there a dopey? Are they making fun of Dopey? There's seven people. Seven people.

02:40:59 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 4:

It's such an iconic Disney film. It's one of the top three I think you think of when you think of Disney films. It's just sad that it's being received this way.

02:41:08 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think it's less about how it's being received and more about Rachel and Gal hating each other and not having to do a press junket together. You really think so? Yes, because one's pro-Palestine and one's pro-Israel.

02:41:18 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought that a lot of it, too, also was Rachel Ziegler was really vocal during the elections, too. So I think a lot of times.

02:41:24 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 4:

There's a whole bunch of reasons, I think. I think a lot of people, like a lot of people have the perspective as well that, what's my girl, Halle Bailey, who played Ariel, shouldn't have been playing her because she was black and the original Little Mermaid is white. Snow White is white. Rachel Zinkler doesn't look like. She was phenomenal. That's something to do with it, too. Like, that's a lot of the backlash as well.

02:41:44 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 3:

Can't they come up with new ideas, though? Does Disney not have new ideas?

02:41:48 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you, the live action Lilo and Stitch trailer came out yesterday. I'm excited. A lot of it? I am excited.

02:41:56 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Kelly Clarkson has been pretty much MIA from her daytime talk show for the past two weeks. And fans are worried, where the heck is she? A handful of celebrities have stepped in to guest host, not co-host, host episodes of the Kelly Clarkson show. And I kind of did some digging about this. She is not sick from what I've been told. she is instead dealing with a personal matter that does not directly involve her or does not directly affect her.

02:42:25 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 3:

That's what I got. I would never know. I always feel like I'm watching a rerun of any of those things.

02:42:31 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, and we don't even have a TV with live TV in the studio anymore, and so it really just throws me off.

02:42:36 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 3:

But it's on usually when I'm home. I always usually sit there and watch these talk shows in the afternoon. They do all seem like reruns. And I'm watching them going, oh, that movie's coming out. That movie's been out for two years. That's a rerun. You never know.

02:42:50 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Aaron Rodgers may be headed to the Steel City and listen to how this was discovered. They're loading up. Okay. So there's a guy named John Geiger. He is a fashion designer who is currently collabing with New Era and Lids. And he says that Aaron Rodgers requested a Pittsburgh Pirates hat from this upcoming Misplaced series collection of MLB-related caps. And so this little tidbit of information is the most concrete we've gotten so far that he might be wanting this hat to wear maybe in his Pittsburgh Steelers signing announcement. I don't know.

02:43:33 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 4:

For those football fans, Steelers have been loading up. They got DK Metcalf and more widely known name in this area, Darius Slay. People wish that he had been signed by the Lions once the Eagles released him, but he just signed to the Steelers as well.

02:43:47 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't think he's going to go there. I keep hearing that he's going to the Minnesota Vikings, and they're going to do a whole, like, Brett Favre thing like they did, where Brett Favre played for the Vikings. That's what I've heard. I actually saw Brett Favre on TV talking about that, and he said that he actually talked to Aaron, and Aaron told him that he just needed advice on, like, what it's like to go and play in your own division.

02:44:08 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Do you think Aaron Rodgers has the ego that would prevent him from wanting that type of...

02:44:14 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 3:

I think Aaron Rodgers, if he knew what was going to happen to his career, would have just stayed in Green Bay and retired a Green Bay Packer. I think that would have been... But he's got to come back and try to win. Let's talk other football. How about Matthew Stafford getting loaded up with all kinds of talent with the Rams? The Rams are going for it. And they got rid of their best wide receiver, but added even better wide receivers in Devontae Adams. And then they got a bunch of defensive players, too. So why are we not signing any big name? What's going on with these guys?

02:44:46 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 4:

We got DJ Reed at cornerback, but we got some money. We got some money. I mean, Brad Holmes has shown that he can draft very well. So hopefully that happens. But what's his name? Hendrickson, who won defensive player of the year. The lineman from the Cincinnati Beagles. That's been a name that's been thrown. in a row i'm telling you these the line if the lions come and crap the bed this next year this fans there's gonna be an uproar we're all gonna have crazy uproar that's the real roar in other

02:45:10 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 2:

sports dirty this morning eminem has joined a group seeking a wnba expansion team in detroit moving from football to basketball um i had to think about that for a second you guys what sport

02:45:21 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 4:

it was yeah what sport it was wnba that's women's basketball you should know that the bid report

02:45:27 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 2:

It reportedly includes Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores, the Red Wings, different owners from the Red Wings, the Tigers, the Lions also on board. Everybody wants this to happen. And I know that more than 10 different cities formally submitted bids to secure an expansion team. They're supposed to pick one, but now I'm hearing they could pick three because there's so much interest in this. So we'll see if we get one again.

02:45:50 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 4:

I would like to see them get this team, but they have to name it the shock. If they don't name it the shock, I'll be pissed. You know what I mean? That was a great name. If they come up with another name, and if they don't have Bill Lambert as their coach, because he was the winningest WNBA coach to get fired, I think, wasn't he? Back in that day.

02:46:07 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of, the WNBA star Angel Reese overheard sending a very clear message to the league.

02:46:13 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to get into meetings because I'm hearing, like, if y'all don't give us what we want, like, we sitting out. That's a possibility.

02:46:20 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 2:

Pay up or we're sitting out.

02:46:21 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 4:

What do you think about that? Do you think that even, you know, some of the other stars will do this? I don't know.

02:46:29 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 3:

So, if you've been paying attention to women's basketball, there are two very popular women who are amazing in the sport. Breonna Stewart, and there's a girl named Nafisa Collier. Among others, they've banded together to create their own league called Unrivaled. So, they have a league of their own that does very well, and that is paying their players. and the NBA is taking notice because it's actually a little bit more competitive than what we're seeing on the guy's side. They have one-on-one tournaments. They got three-on-three. Do people want to watch that? Hell yeah.

02:47:01 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Do they want to see, what's her name? Kaitlyn Clark? Yeah, Kaitlyn Clark.

02:47:05 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yes, people want to see Kaitlyn Clark.

02:47:08 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 2:

He's just bringing up Kaitlyn Clark because he wants to start a fight right now. Kevin hates Kaitlyn Clark. Please not during the dirty. Do it after the show.

02:47:14 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

I do not hate Blakely. Have you seen the muscles she's put on? She sounds like our first caller. Oh, really? Is she like bench pressing and stuff? You don't know? You don't follow Caitlyn Clark? Do you hate Caitlyn Clark? Okay. All right.

You can tell when he was, like, he was trying to, like, da-da-da-da-da. Nope.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:48:38 - 02:48:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm yelling? Stop yelling at me. You gotta just talk a lot.

02:48:41 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh. mojo in the morning show phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number to get through to us so i was talking to a friend and he's been dating he started dating this one girl it's gone on like two dates or whatever and she said something interesting that i actually want to bring up as a topic. And I want you to be honest. You gotta be honest on this one. This friend was telling me that he was on his second date with this girl and she started talking to him about what her friends were saying about him off of their date. And he said to her, he goes, well, how would they know they weren't on the date? Were you just telling them what was going on? and she said no i was playing them some of the audio i actually taped our date because i wanted to see how i was on the date and i wanted my friends to be able to hear it he felt so violated uh i would too yeah crazy she secretly taped the date to play for her friend she says

02:50:00 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

And she says that she was playing it for the friends and the friend said, this is the greatest one, the friend said that they felt like he was overly interested in her. And he was first off, he was like, okay, wait, hold on. Let's hold the fact that you're like secretly taping me and I feel like I'm getting, you know, like bugged or whatever. What the hell are they talking about? And I guess he was like really nice and he was asking her a lot of questions and they said that he was like way into her. And then he was like, no, I was just trying to be a nice person. But now let's go back to the fact that you're taping me, and this is crazy talk here.

02:50:31 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 1:

That is crazy behavior. Yeah.

02:50:33 - 02:51:03 | Speaker 3:

And it's funny, but it is funny that you say that it is crazy behavior, because I was having a conversation weeks and weeks ago, God, more than two months ago, with Tony Travato. Do you guys know who Tony Travato is? I've heard of him. Have our listeners heard of him? The guy here? You talk to the PD. Tony Travato, our program director. and Tony Travato says that he never goes into a conversation with anyone without thinking that they're taping him.

02:51:03 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, I get it. I get it from his perspective of why he thinks that because a lot of what he's talking about is business and you don't want your words misconstrued. So I, you know, I get that.

02:51:16 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 3:

He always says, he goes, you always got to understand that people are probably taping you, so you got to understand that anything you say is being taped. And I'm like, oh, because they always used to say, don't put anything in writing you don't want others to see because you can do it. But I would love to know, are there any attorneys listening? Is Top Dog listening to us right now? Is the Top Dog, although I don't know, he does personal injury, I think. I want to know if there are any attorneys or something listening. Can you tape somebody without them knowing about it? Like, can you go on a date and have the date tape you?

02:51:44 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 2:

See, I feel like the only, I'm not going to say the only instance, the first instance that pops into my mind where I feel like it's acceptable is if I go on a job interview and I want to see how I was in the interview so that possibly I can learn from that and the next time I could be better. Like, I feel like that's an acceptable use of recording.

02:52:05 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 1:

I think there are a lot of acceptable uses. I just think a date is a really wild one.

02:52:10 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is. I've gotten in fights with Chelsea where I said to her when we're in the middle of the fight, hold on, I want to tape this. And she's like, what? And I said, I want to tape this because it always comes back that I said this.

02:52:20 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Let me tell you, I think Wes has probably taped one of our arguments. He has a thing on his phone. It's called a plod. Yeah. I don't know if you've ever heard of this. And he uses it for work. I'm going to ask him, actually. It not only records it, but then it also sends you a complete transcript. So it is in writing. That's smart, though.

02:52:44 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 3:

I said that to Chelsea, and she goes, well, go back and listen to it. I went back and listened to one of our arguments that we had with each other. Everything she was saying was true. I was not hearing exactly what she was saying until I heard it on tape. But that's interesting that you talk about the thing on the phone. Have you guys been on the phone with anybody that has pushed that button that's now on the new iPhone app?

02:53:02 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 1:

It tells you. It tells you you're being recorded.

02:53:05 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 3:

I was on the phone with somebody and it went up and it said, your phone call is being recorded. And the person claimed that they just pushed it with their cheek. Is that possible? Let me see.

02:53:14 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 1:

It is possible. It's in the very upper left-hand corner, though. So you'd have to be really pushing your cheek hard.

02:53:19 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 3:

I didn't mean to do that. Hold on one second here. Jennifer, you're an attorney. Is that right?

02:53:25 - 02:53:30 | Speaker 4:

I am, yeah. So Michigan law states that it's one-party consent.

02:53:30 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 3:

So as long as that person that recorded is okay with it.

02:53:34 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 4:

Correct. So he couldn't, she couldn't record her phone and then leave the room and record what everybody else is doing. But as long as the person who's recording is still there can do it. Now, it is different federally, which I know you guys run into with your, probably the radio, you know, putting things on the radio and things like that. But in Michigan, it's a one-party consent.

02:53:54 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 3:

One-party consent. What do you think about this girl taping my friend on their first date?

02:54:00 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 4:

Psycho.

02:54:01 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 3:

It's nuts.

02:54:02 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 4:

Would not go that route. I mean, I know if she's claiming it's to see how she acts. Okay. But, yeah, I just think that's a little weird. Yeah.

02:54:10 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's crazy. Well, thank you, attorney. No problem. Wait, how much do you charge by the hour?

02:54:16 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, first meeting's free, so you're okay. Free consultation. Just so you know, I just want you to know this.

02:54:23 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 3:

If my wife should ever try to hire you to do our divorce, you can't because you talked to me already. We already took a meeting.

02:54:29 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 4:

I agree.

02:54:29 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 1:

And I love you guys.

02:54:31 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 4:

I listen to you every morning. We love you too.

02:54:33 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know how to turn this on. Do you want to hear what it sounds like when you do this? Okay. Yeah.

02:54:41 - 02:54:42 | Unknown:

This call will be recorded.

02:54:43 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. It's funny.

02:54:44 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Mine is a guy, but yeah. I had to practice because I was actually going to record somebody, and I wanted to know if it was going to tell them that they were going to record it. I was like, dang it, it does. But then it opens up a note section, keeps the audio, and you can take notes.

02:55:00 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 6:

So interesting. Carson, what's up?

02:55:03 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so that's what I want to say. First time in a long time. Hey, Carson's in the phone. All right. I'm not an attorney by any means, but I did get suspended from school for secretly recording my principal when he was talking to me about something I did. I don't even remember what I did. But yeah, he suspended me for two days for that.

02:55:26 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 5:

Why? You can't do that. uh yeah i know no i'm saying what you did what like well not it was not if it's a private school

02:55:34 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 6:

if it's a private school they could have what kind of school was it it's not a private school

02:55:38 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 4:

and shout out pinkney high school i don't think that was legit that they suspended you yeah he told he actually i just heard jennifer on the phone she says one party he told me it was a two-party state and that he could press charges for that yeah i know you should sue his

02:55:55 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 6:

ass. Nope. Nope. That's interesting to tell Pinkney high school. That's, uh, that's wild. What did you find by taping him? Did he say anything to you? Um, it was, it was probably,

02:56:06 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 4:

it's probably about something I did. It's probably, it's probably something stupid I did, but, um, I just want to show my friends. So I had like this, uh, I just had like the memo going in my pocket and then I stopped at the end of the meeting. And then, um, one of my teachers overheard me show it to one of my friends and yeah she ratted me out and i got suspended oh wow after

02:56:27 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 6:

the fact uh and what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi how are you hey we're doing okay we're

02:56:33 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 2:

talking about secretly recording somebody you did this yes well my ex-husband has been 15 years or so but we used to get in pretty bad fights and um there was somewhere i thought you know he was the agreed for the fight so i would record him and he i would have him listen to it and he would agree and he would get through to him but it didn't work it worked for a while but then it went downhill from there but i have i also tapped his phone and found out he was cheating when we were trying to

02:57:05 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 6:

make our second child oh and wait was he can you do that i don't know but i did wait shannon brings

02:57:14 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 2:

shannon asked the question uh was he cheating he was he was he was cheating with even we ended up um getting divorced obviously and who did you hear him cheating with um it was he i found a two-page letter in his backpack that he used to bring to work and it was from a girl that um he had gone to high school with and um yeah i found that and i like call he was at walmart or something i called i'm like i found a nice note in your backpack and he's like oh and it's funny i mean this was a long time ago now i'm remarried doing a great guy but um by the way if that guy is

02:57:57 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 6:

listening just know she's taping you hide the letters that evil laugh there oh that's hilarious we love you take care of yourself uh d we're voice disguising you d what's

02:58:21 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 1:

going on hi am i voice disguised you are voice disguised and i am taping you go ahead Okay, perfect. First of all, I just want to say first time in a long time. Yay! D's in a row! My whole life. So, yeah. Not trying to age you guys, but anyways.

02:58:40 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 6:

You're only aging one person because this is the only person that these guys like to look at as old. Go ahead.

02:58:46 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 1:

No, yeah. But I do this all the time and everything. Like, I usually do it at work so I can, like, figure out if I'm, like, being professional and everything. but i actually um got a dash cam the other day too and i realized that you can have sound on it so if i'm doing like um phone calls in the car on speaker oh that's actually good yeah no yeah like it comes in handy if like i was like getting in a fight with my boyfriend i'm like okay let me like actually see but i wouldn't like tell him i was doing that but i'm like you definitely said

02:59:20 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 6:

wow that's i never thought about that like the dash cams like how you know youtube or uber

02:59:27 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 5:

drivers have and stuff but i feel like you have to wait until like the absolute perfect occasion to then show him the dash cam to prove your point right because once you do it once you're done

02:59:37 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 3:

this makes me so nervous to then like date because like say you're dating a guy who has a dash cam and we've talked in the car about stuff when we break up you have all those files yeah i've always

02:59:47 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 6:

wanted a dash cam just to to catch like people like that was the the beauty uh of uh having a tesla was the fact that you could video you had video all around you all the time and it's always recording it you can keep it there

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 3:

So if somebody, like, tries to intentionally hit you, it's probably a good thing for, like, insurance purposes.

03:00:05 - 03:00:07 | Speaker 2:

I think every car should have that, actually.

03:00:08 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 3:

But I never thought about using it when you're taping your phone conversations that you're just having randomly in your car. Yeah, right. By the way, you've got to be careful with that dash cam, because if you get into an accident, did you know that the insurance company could subpoena your dash cam and see if you were goofing around or not watching the road and all that stuff at that time?

03:00:27 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Well, I only have it facing the road and everything, but you can also turn on and off the audio. And I was really upset because the other day I was trying to pull up a video on my phone and be talking to my boyfriend, and I accidentally turned the audio off on my gas cam.

03:00:42 - 03:00:51 | Speaker 3:

The one argument you really wanted to have. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. All right. Take care of yourself. Lydia, should I grab this last one or am I done? What do you think?

03:00:51 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 1:

I kind of want you to read the description first because I want you to pick it up at your own discretion.

03:00:55 - 03:00:55 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:00:56 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 1:

I love it. That was so noncommittal. That was it. You blame me.

03:01:01 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 3:

I only can read if I sound it out loud.

03:01:04 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 1:

Like my mom.

03:01:05 - 03:01:14 | Speaker 3:

I recorded a meeting with a principal after my son was forced to clean up pee of another student. What? Oh, this was a news story. She was in the news.

03:01:14 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 2:

This is a news story.

03:01:16 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 3:

This just happened. What? Caitlin, that's you?

03:01:19 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's me. Hi.

03:01:21 - 03:01:22 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

03:01:22 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what in the heck?

03:01:23 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 1:

I have not heard this story.

03:01:24 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I saw it, and I was livid for you.

03:01:29 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 3:

So what's going on with that case or that particular situation?

03:01:35 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so my son, he's in third grade, and his principal was substituting for his teacher last week, and she made him clean up another child's urine off the classroom bathroom floor and humiliated him in front of the whole class. and I took it to the news and everything.

03:01:55 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 3:

I saw that, yeah. Utica Schools, huh?

03:01:58 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 4:

Yep, yep. And the principal and her family and friends and stuff were all over the Facebook threatening to sue me for defamation. And I talked to an attorney, and I learned that Michigan is a one-party state. So I had a meeting on Monday with the executive administrators and the principal for basically her insincere apologies. to my son and uh i recorded the whole the whole meeting wow so that she's unable to sue me for defamation because no not happening so why why your son why does she choose him because he was

03:02:35 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 3:

the last one in the bathroom so so what is going to happen uh with this principal that will the school district and they said what they're going to do um they're not really allowed to tell me

03:02:47 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I will say that she's already back to work. I guess her apology was enough. That is insane to me. I'm moving my kids' schools.

03:02:59 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 3:

What are you hoping that ends up happening?

03:03:03 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, I would have liked her to at least get a lengthy, no-pay suspension, at the very least. She's the one running the building. She should have been fired.

03:03:13 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 3:

Interesting that she said that your son was the one, because he was the last one in there, not realizing that no kid or no human, no guy gets it in the toilet. You know what I mean? Like, that could have happened any time.

03:03:25 - 03:03:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, the thing is, is the child that used the bathroom before my son is autistic. Okay. And my son, his name is Reese, he noticed that when that little boy went to the bathroom that that's when the urine was on the floor, but he didn't want to embarrass that little boy.

03:03:40 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

03:03:41 - 03:03:45 | Speaker 4:

So I left those details out of all the news because I'm like, that's totally irrelevant. It doesn't even matter.

03:03:45 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and you didn't want to bring up another person's business, I guess, right?

03:03:48 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 4:

No, that's not even the point. But I know it wasn't my son's urine on the floor, and she literally gave him a piece of paper towel, like one small piece of paper towel, to clean it up.

03:03:58 - 03:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, and no offense, you know, but you've got little kids and stuff like that. You've got janitorial services. They'll come and pick.

03:04:05 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she told me it wasn't their custodian's job to come clean the bathroom every time. That's all the time you leave the job.

03:04:11 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 3:

That's their job. Yeah. That is their job.

03:04:13 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 4:

That's why I recorded the whole meeting, because this definitely happened. You already admitted to it. Like, no, I got you on recording, so don't try to play me, lady. You're on a power trip, is what it is. Right.

03:04:26 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 3:

I guess the part that I'm the most confused with and upset with is that this is the leader of the school.

03:04:33 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 2:

Right.

03:04:33 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 3:

And not that that would give any teacher justification for doing this, but this is the person that's leading the entire school, and this is how they're, you know, holding and dealing with situations, I would just say to that school district, maybe you guys might want to have a conversation about this, you know, and let's...

03:04:54 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they did say that they are, like, moving forward, they are going to be clarifying that.

03:05:00 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 2:

that's not acceptable and everyone needs to be following the protocol the district's protocols and stuff because it's not something that's okay with the district here's here's a question for

03:05:09 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 1:

you if this principal would have sincerely just said i am so sorry i was stressed out that day

03:05:15 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 2:

it was a bad day what would you do i absolutely would have been like okay i understand i that's what i told her in the meeting i have it on recording if you would have said anything anything just an acknowledgement yeah yeah just anything at all differently than um it's the classroom policy and I stand behind it and how rude she was to me about it and like the fact that she was like not if she would have said anything different I would have been like okay

03:05:40 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 1:

well yeah we can't I we can't do that it's a shame but it's a shame that your son has to move schools I I almost feel like that that's not fair to your son but I get why you're doing that

03:05:50 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 2:

protection for him it's at his request he wants to my son is actually considered special needs he's on a 504 at school and he takes daily medication he has a learning disability um and so the principal knows all that too so like why why would you do that to him okay all right

03:06:08 - 03:07:00 | Speaker 1:

well listen i uh i don't know the full story other than i did see it on the news and i will be following it to see what ends up happening thank you for the call yeah all right take care yourself uh we'll be right back with more mojo in the morning coming up in a second don't go anywhere please add the mojo in the morning show to your presets on our free iheart video app and never miss the show mojo in the morning's top trending stories before we take off we'll do top trending news i wish i could say hi to jay towers he just doesn't come in here and say hi to us he's in a meeting yeah he's going i know but he's been walking in the halls all all morning he never comes in he's been in the building like since we moved here i think he's avoiding me because I have been wanting to talk to him forever. I've texted him like five times. Hey, come on in and say hi. In the old building, he would walk in all the time. In the new building with a window, I don't ever get to say hi to him.

03:07:01 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 3:

Tell him that you love him. What'd you do?

03:07:02 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Oh, I think, honestly, it could go back to that ribbon cutting thing. I don't know. I have no idea. It's craziness, man, this radio business that we have. I love the guy. He and I used to, I actually apologized to him for all the years that I used to. I used to call it Jay Leno him. Because if you never remember the Jay Leno, David Letterman days, they used to go, you know, David Letterman was so mean to Jay Leno and stuff like that.

03:07:29 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 3:

What about Leno Cohen?

03:07:31 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 1:

Huh?

03:07:31 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 3:

Leno Conan.

03:07:32 - 03:07:39 | Speaker 1:

Leno Cohen? Conan did the same? Not as much as Letterman and Leno. Letterman used to, he was...

03:07:39 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Leno stole Conan's show back.

03:07:42 - 03:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, Leno stole David Letterman's Tonight Show. He should have been the guy on The Tonight Show, if you ever watched that series that was on about late night. Well, Jay, if you're here, tell Jay to come in. Somebody grab Jay. Somebody say to Jay, if you're in the building, please tell Jay that I would like to see him. Let me do top trending news here real quick, and then we'll get out of here for today. This story was crazy. So, a sign of the times. Most Americans mentally spend their paychecks before it even hits their bank account. The average American has mentally spent more than half of their paycheck before it even lands in their account. A survey of 2,000 employed Americans who are making less than $75,000 a year say that they know exactly what they're going to be spending their money on even before that money comes on payday. Nearly three in five pre-plan where it gets paid first, resulting in 51% of them already pre-spending on that money. And this is one of those things. I was having this conversation the other day with my son, Joe, and I was like, hey, you know, it doesn't grow on trees. You know what I mean? I felt like I had to be a dad to do that.

03:08:58 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say that's a very dead thing to say.

03:08:59 - 03:09:32 | Speaker 1:

But my dad actually used to say that to me all the time. And I would see, I knew exactly my, my, and I know exactly where, what I'm spending money on, but I find myself, this is the worst. I find myself when it comes to seeing something on Instagram and you notice it. Now I have to do the, put it in a cart. And if that cart is still something that you want a week later, or if it's still available, still item is still available, then I'll buy it. Otherwise it's like so easy. The Amazon factor screws you up. You can buy anything at a moment's notice.

03:09:32 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 3:

That's how I took this news story was not necessarily, and I could be wrong. I didn't read the article, obviously, but when I heard it, I thought, wow, I really resonate with this. It's not necessarily about like frivolous shopping, but I know like my rent has to come out of that paycheck and my car insurance has to come out of this paycheck. And you know what I mean?

03:09:50 - 03:10:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, that is part of the thing. But here's the thing. They say that the average American spends 43% of their paycheck within the first three days of receiving it not just on bills with the majority of them buying things that they probably shouldn't be buying that uh that might be a little bit of a problem i do do you have so your mortgage is what the first paycheck or the second paycheck or your rent my rent is technically due on the first of

03:10:17 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 3:

the month if you pay it before the first of the month you get a discount and so it comes out of we get paid the last day of the month so it comes out of that paycheck no it doesn't it comes out of my mid-month paycheck yeah but we're paid weird around here though too we think oh we absolutely are you we get all of our like freelance stuff on one check and then like our base salary on the other one so we have uneven checks yeah thanks uh well nice of you to join us where have you been

03:10:45 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 2:

i was talking to colleen big things are happening it's 313 day big things are happening big things are happening what do we got anything big uh the biggest of things all the things all the big things

03:10:57 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 1:

I've noticed that Colleen, to get everybody to come to work, has to offer free food. There's so much food. Yeah, there's shrimp out there. So much food. There's shrimp out there. If all it takes is to get free food, that gets you to come to work. Egg prices are starting to drop as bird flu, the shortage caused by bird flu is now starting to go away. According to some grocery stores, they're saying that the price of eggs has dropped about $1.30 on a carton of eggs right now.

03:11:27 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 4:

I haven't seen that yet. It's so expensive.

03:11:31 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 1:

Are you buying the fancy eggs, though?

03:11:33 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not. You don't even really have a choice anymore. It's like, what's there? The cheapest I saw, I bought eggs a couple of days ago, was $5.70. You go to any Whole Foods, you still can't even get an egg. Really?

03:11:46 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 1:

nothing zero zero that's the problem though whole foods and like the fancy stores like kroger has

03:11:51 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 4:

eggs but you like you know what they don't necessarily have every single kind in stock that you make like i always try to buy like the same one so it's like whatever they have like i'm gonna buy you know a month ago the walmart i went to had no zero i'm talking zero they're saying a

03:12:08 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 1:

lot of people are going with egg substitutes a lot of people are going with like the already smashed up, you know, like, what is it? In the carton.

03:12:15 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 3:

Vegans, don't get mad at me, but that, whatever the yellow egg brand is for vegans is really, really good. It is a great substitute for eggs.

03:12:24 - 03:12:36 | Speaker 1:

I like, I'll be honest with you. I love eggs. I know there's a lot of people that are like, this doesn't affect them because they hate eggs. Crazy. But we eat eggs all the time. I like eating eggs, like for dinner sometimes. Yeah, same.

03:12:36 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 2:

It's just like my eggs, man. It's not just breakfast. Whenever you want an egg, an egg is always on top.

03:12:41 - 03:12:42 | Speaker 1:

It does a body good. I love it.

03:12:42 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 2:

Are you a hard-boiled? I used to love hard-boiled eggs.

03:12:47 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't, not anymore.

03:12:49 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Soft-boiled, medium-boiled.

03:12:52 - 03:13:08 | Speaker 1:

This next story is a great story. A Florida cop ended up having to double as a pizza delivery person when a woman ordered a pizza, and the pizza driver got stuck in their car by an eight-foot alligator.

03:13:08 - 03:13:09 | Speaker 4:

I love these stories. Oh, my God.

03:13:09 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 1:

An eight-foot alligator was hiding under the vehicle in the woman's driveway. The pizza delivery person ended up having to call the cops to come. And so the Bradenton Police Department had to go up and deliver it and listen to them walk up to the window, or the back door of this person's house, to give them their pizza and try to do the exchange on money.

03:13:31 - 03:13:38 | Speaker 6:

Ma'am, get back over there. There's an alligator right under your car. Oh, my God. Go in the house.

03:13:38 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

03:13:39 - 03:13:41 | Speaker 7:

There's a big alligator under my car.

03:13:41 - 03:13:43 | Speaker 5:

Hey, ma'am, could you...

03:13:43 - 03:13:47 | Unknown:

Oh, my lordy. I never had that flower when it first walked in.

03:13:48 - 03:13:50 | Speaker 5:

Get in the house.

03:13:51 - 03:13:52 | Unknown:

Where's my pizza?

03:13:52 - 03:13:54 | Speaker 5:

I'll take it to the back door.

03:13:54 - 03:13:55 | Speaker 4:

She's so concerned.

03:13:58 - 03:13:59 | Speaker 6:

Here's your pizza.

03:14:00 - 03:14:01 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:14:03 - 03:14:05 | Speaker 5:

Look, okay, I'll take it to her.

03:14:05 - 03:14:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, how much was it, three?

03:14:06 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea. I'm not the pizza man.

03:14:09 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 7:

Oh, well, you're a policeman.

03:14:11 - 03:14:14 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I'm a policeman, not a pizza man. You got it?

03:14:14 - 03:14:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they called us about the alligator. Are you expecting change from her?

03:14:18 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 7:

Did she deliver? No, they said it was 32-something.

03:14:21 - 03:14:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'll give this to her so she can leave.

03:14:23 - 03:14:24 | Speaker 7:

She's the one that delivered?

03:14:24 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

03:14:25 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 7:

And when was the alligator there?

03:14:26 - 03:14:27 | Speaker 6:

It just got there.

03:14:28 - 03:14:29 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I'd like to take a picture of it.

03:14:30 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, I wouldn't take it from where you were. I mean.

03:14:34 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's the greatest. By the way, is that not, like, the greatest lady? I feel like that was Betty White from Golden Girls Island. And last but not least, the Red Wings with a big win last night after a big fight. Let's bring in our Red Wings correspondent, Zach, to give us details. What's up, Zach? Well, we kicked Buffalo's ass last night. Yeah, we did. Hey, yo.

03:15:00 - 03:15:12 | Speaker 6:

And after the game, while it was like close to the end of the game, they got a little pissed at us. A little chippy, huh? A little chippy on the ice. So it was a 5v5 round on the ice. It was everyone's brawler.

03:15:12 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 5:

Takes a shoulder and gives a cross-check to Johansson. Meanwhile, there's a wrestling match between Norris and Edmondson. And then takes Thompson, comes over, throws the gloves off, and those two hit the ice quickly. But this isn't stopping. Not yet. this is now turning into five on five the helmets he's trying to throw some punches some trying to calm things down some trying to escalate yeah norris initiated this and now more gloves are off as shine and byram late in this have tossed gloves out their night well it's going to be done anyway with the five-minute majors but they'll get misconducts on top of that And Shine with an extra one on Byron. That's going to draw the crowd back to the pile.

03:15:56 - 03:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Dude, not only did Buffalo take a big L during that game, but they also took so many L's in those fights. They got their ass kicked in every one of those fights. If you watch it, it looks pathetic. We are the hockey town.

03:16:12 - 03:16:27 | Speaker 7:

Red Wings got to go on a roll, though. They're not going to make these playoffs. They're, what, a couple of points behind in the wild card. This is not good. We couldn't lose those games to Columbus. That was the problem, right? Wait, I'm sorry. You're the correspondent for the Red Wings. Why am I in this?

03:16:27 - 03:16:28 | Speaker 6:

No, no, you're right. You're great.

03:16:28 - 03:16:37 | Speaker 7:

I shouldn't know this. Tell me, Zach, if you had to choose. Patrick Kane. Well, no, I'm talking out of all the Detroit sports. Like, what is yours? Is it hockey?

03:16:38 - 03:16:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I would probably go hockey. Yeah. Then football. Okay. Then basketball. Yeah.

03:16:44 - 03:16:49 | Speaker 7:

Then baseball. Yeah. See, it's weird. I may be one of the only ones that's a huge Tigers fan.

03:16:49 - 03:16:54 | Speaker 8:

I love going to the games. I can't watch it on TV. What are we doing for opening day? Are we pulling up?

03:16:54 - 03:16:55 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yes.

03:16:55 - 03:16:56 | Speaker 8:

We have to talk about that.

03:16:56 - 03:17:05 | Speaker 7:

We got a bunch of stuff coming up with that. And by the way, I will say this. It's going to be so cool to go to these Wednesday day games at 1 o'clock. It's our backyard. Right there.

03:17:05 - 03:17:07 | Speaker 8:

I like that. It's our backyard.

03:17:07 - 03:17:15 | Speaker 7:

Jay Towers. Oh, I'm trying to wave him here while we're doing it. He's just not in the meeting, bro. Jay Towers.

03:17:15 - 03:17:19 | Speaker 1:

He's in a closed-door meeting. We just have blasted. I want to see him.

03:17:19 - 03:17:36 | Speaker 7:

I love Jay Towers. Watch J Towers in the morning on Fox 2. I'd rather have you do that than listen to him on 100.3 WNIC in Detroit. But if you got to, it's keeping in the same family. All right, we'll see you tomorrow. Have a great day. Tomorrow's throwback throwdown day. Kevin's, like, lost all of 2025.

03:17:37 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 8:

I won the first two weeks, and I haven't won since.

03:17:39 - 03:17:40 | Speaker 7:

Man, tomorrow.

03:17:40 - 03:17:42 | Speaker 8:

Not even in Black History Month, which I'm very mad about.

03:17:42 - 03:17:45 | Speaker 7:

It was bad. You let every single African-American down, by the way.

03:17:45 - 03:17:47 | Speaker 8:

I did. I got the world on my shoulders.

03:17:47 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 7:

Did you know who's the reigning champ and going for another one tomorrow? Was it you, Shannon? Who was it? You or Megan? Megan, which one was it?

03:17:54 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 1:

It was Megan.

03:17:55 - 03:17:56 | Speaker 7:

It was Megan last week?

03:17:56 - 03:18:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, last week it was me. You're saying who's the reigning champ?

03:18:00 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you're the reigning champ. You won last week.

03:18:02 - 03:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Not me. I thought you meant, like, who has the most so far this year.

03:18:04 - 03:18:10 | Speaker 7:

I think we're all leaving. I think everybody has two. Tomorrow, make sure you're listening. $500 from Imagine. We'll see you guys.

03:18:10 - 03:18:15 | Speaker 3:

20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:18:16 - 03:18:17 | Speaker 2:
