Here we go, go, go. Here we go, go, go. It's showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:22 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. War of the Roses happening this morning here on the show. And today, a girlfriend and the mother of a child, actually a child on the way, suspects that her boyfriend is cheating on her. And it's all because of something that she found in their basement. And coming up this morning on the show, the shocking news revealed when we actually make a phone call to him to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Stick around for that. That War of the Roses happening right after the 730 Dirty and right after we give away some sold-out Tate McCray tickets. Also, coming up, another round of tickets, Kendrick Lamar SZA. And then The Weekend, Post Malone, Jelly Roll, and a whole bunch more. It's good to have you guys here with us today. It's Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. We're all wearing Pistons gear today because Kevin called it Pistons Fan Day. What do we call it?

00:04:45 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Spirit Day. It's Spirit Day. We're just showing love to the team that had a franchise record win last night. Most points in a victory in franchise history. We ballin', baby!

00:04:55 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

How many points did they score?

00:04:57 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 2:

We won by like, I think it was 46 was the final score. Holy cow. The final total between our score and their score, then.

00:05:02 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Man, I was on the opposite end of those type of losses when I was playing sports as I was growing up. It's always defeating. Although, you know what? These guys are making a lot of money. They don't even care. I hate at the end of the game when they all hug and kiss each other. Like, the players do that. Like, I like college sports where they just kind of, like, slap each other's hands and kind of walk through it. Yeah. I never like at the end of a game when it comes down to it And then the guys like in the pros are like exchanging jerseys and hugging each other and praying at midfield. I want to see you guys fight more.

00:05:35 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's different, man. I mean, you go from little league where you have the layup line and you go to college and high school, you go through all that. You got the layup line. Now when you're pros, you're making millions of dollars. You're spending the vacations with each other. Your wives know each other. Your friends. I want, I want the old school with each other before you, I want the old

00:05:53 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

school days. I want the days where they hated Isaiah, and they hated Michael Jordan, and they hated...

00:05:58 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 2:

But now all those guys sit down and they cry about it, how petty they were.

00:06:01 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. I don't like it. You bring Blaine Fowler through this door, I'll punch him right in the nose.

00:06:09 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 2:

You and Jay are good friends, though. You guys used to battle a lot.

00:06:11 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he won't even look at me anymore. I don't know what that story is all about.

00:06:15 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

What is going on there?

00:06:16 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. But that's all right. That's good, though. That's called competitiveness. We've got to be competitive. both on and off the air. You hear that free beer, Hot Wings? Yeah. I'm like, you know what? I'm like what people are doing to people that have Teslas these days. I'm keying cars and, you know, I'm like smashing windows and stuff like that. You know, watch out. You got a station vehicle next to me and it says the opposing station's names on it. Watch out. I do like that, by the way. Tony Travato likes that. It's actually kind of funny. Tony and I were having this discussion about how he feels that it drives him crazy when he goes on social media. Tony's our boss, by the way, for those who don't know. He hates when he goes on social media and he sees that radio people from opposing stations are out hanging out at a happy hour together. And he said that he remembers the days when radio, you know, people like literally would go on the air and just bash each other and do all the rest of that stuff. And I said to him, I go, that's interesting. Because that is kind of turned. Like, everybody is, like, nicey-nice with each other.

00:07:23 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

You want it to be like Anchorman, where we just meet in a parking lot and beat each other with pipes? You know what? That's a great analogy.

00:07:29 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

I forgot about that in the movie. That was actually a great scene.

00:07:33 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 2:

I haven't even made it to that part in the movie. You know how many times I've tried to watch Anchorman? You just don't like it?

00:07:39 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, what we want is we want to line up. Who do we line up from the other radio stations? We want to line up Allison, Julia, Lauren, who else, Schmitty. We're going to line them all up. Even if they work in our same building, we're going to line them all up. And we're going to all, like, arm wrestle each other or something. I don't know. Let's do it. Let's come. Joust. Yeah, we're going to joust.

00:08:03 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Again, I like most of those people. I mean, everybody can have a lane.

00:08:09 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 1:

Not, no, not you. No lane for you, Megan. There's room for everyone.

00:08:15 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Have you heard that saying?

00:08:16 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Megan, understand, they want you fired, Megan. They want your job. They've applied for your job.

00:08:22 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

They want it. No, you don't.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 1:

They want it.

00:08:24 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm telling you now. They'll take it. You'll regret that decision.

00:08:27 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 1:

You know how many, they'll be nice to your face, but behind your back, they'll go.

00:08:32 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so just like the people I'm closest with.

00:08:34 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the Nielsen ratings this year? I got blah, blah, blah, blah, blahs, you know, stuff like that. um anybody wants his job i actually i remember back i remember back when the show started years and years ago and i remember that uh you know there was there was a uh like the the guys who you had to worry about the most were the guys on the station that played the wimpiest music like it was like the the morning guys like on wnic were the morning people that were like they wanted death of you and then they would go on the air and play how deep is your love is your love, but they wanted you out of here, and then it was the guys that worked on, like, the rap station that, you know, or JLB or whatever at that time, and they were like the, like,

00:09:20 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Coco Foolish, Mr. Chase, all those guys, they were the ones, they were the ones that would

00:09:26 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

have our backs, so, um, all right, well, it's, it's good, so we're, what are we doing? Are we taking pictures with all of our Pistons gear on? Yeah, we gotta figure that out. Yeah, we are

00:09:37 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm coming right now. All right.

00:09:38 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a quick question? Did they give a – so the last week we had Jalen Duren on with us.

00:09:47 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:09:47 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

And they sent over a box after we had him on with us of a bunch of stuff. Yeah. Is this stuff that they sell inside of the Pistons place?

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

We're all wearing something different by a different graffiti artist.

00:10:00 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Right. So these items in this particular collection were created by three incredible Detroiters, everything from the design to the creation, to the threading, to the production. Every single element of this collection was touched by the traitor and his three incredible people. Shout out my bro, Rick Williams from Distinct Life. Shout out to Southwest Freddy and shout out to Allison. Three incredible people who all design this. And I think the collection is available in the team store or in the practice facility.

00:10:29 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 2:

Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to the amazing M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M

00:10:59 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

and I'm wearing all brown because I deliver for UPS and a FedEx person is across the street, I'm meme-mugging. That's all I'm saying. I'm meme-mugging. See, I like that. I think there's more like Hunger Games, three fingers in the air. We're all in the same boat.

00:11:16 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 2:

That's actually a really good question, though, or a really good analogy with the FedEx and UPS and all the rest of that stuff. If you're a FedEx or UPS driver, will you call us up right now, 844-MOJO-LIVE? Do you guys just despise Amazon? In the U.S. Postal Service, are you guys considered the WOMC of delivery? Are you considered like, oh, they're playing that song? I mean, that song's horrible.

00:11:42 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 1:

I'll take them over anybody.

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 2:

You will?

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. You like the U.S. Postal Service? Those are the ones in the trenches.

00:11:49 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 6:

I love my male lady, but, man, USPS has failed me time and time again over the past couple of months. I think I'm done.

00:11:58 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 2:

All right, Lydia, I want to stay on this right now. I was going to move off of this, but I'm staying on this right now. I want to know if people are as competitive as they, you know, as Tony Travato wants us to be. You know, Tony Travato wants us to literally, you know, throw down gang signs against the radio stations down the street. Like, his ultimate goal is for every radio station's tower to be off.

00:12:22 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. For iHeart to buy everybody.

00:12:25 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 2:

He wants iHeart to buy everybody so that they own everything. What's up, Blake? How you doing? What's up, Mojo? Hi. We're talking about competitiveness here between people. What do you do?

00:12:36 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 5:

I drive a semi for UPS, but I also deliver it in the brown package car. And we all despise Amazon.

00:12:42 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Do you? So Amazon is the ugly big brothers or what are they? They're like the Swift drivers. Oh, really? It's okay. So when you say Swift drivers, are they like Taylor Swift drivers? What are you saying? What does that mean?

00:12:58 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Swift truck drivers.

00:12:59 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 2:

Swift truckers. Oh, okay. I was wondering, do we not like Taylor Swift too? Okay, so if you ever are at a red light and you look over and there is the USPS sitting on one side, Amazon sitting on the other, do both of you guys make eyes with each other and cut off the Amazon driver so he can't get through?

00:13:18 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 5:

No, both my middle fingers get erection.

00:13:20 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 2:

I love it. There's nothing better than an erect middle finger. What's going on, James? How you doing, buddy?

00:13:28 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo?

00:13:30 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 2:

It's going good, man. Who do you work for?

00:13:33 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 3:

I work for FedEx. Oh, okay. I'm actually pulling their work now.

00:13:37 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Are you like Blake, who is the UPS guy that says he hates Amazon? Should have him fight.

00:13:43 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

No, honestly, I usually get along with most of them. There's a few people, though, that are just, you know, they're all about the company. Okay. I've seen a couple, you know, usually I give the head nod or, you know, give a wave to the UPS guys or, you know, the other, you know. Oh, the head nod.

00:13:59 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 2:

I like the head nod.

00:14:00 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:14:00 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 2:

I've done that head nod to a couple of other radio station vehicles when I've seen them at red lights. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We don't mess around.

00:14:09 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 3:

By the way.

00:14:09 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:14:10 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm a first time long. Hey!

00:14:15 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 2:

Welcome, buddy.

00:14:16 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 3:

Finally got through.

00:14:17 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 2:

In your freaky fast FedEx. What's going on? What is their slogan? Get it there to you in a day or something? What's up, Chris? Chris, we're talking competitiveness. You're in the fast food game?

00:14:29 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I work at a fast food restaurant, and we talk crap about all the other restaurants around us. Oh, good. And any time we have a customer that is just frustrating, we talk about sending them to them.

00:14:43 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What's the one you hate the most? Yeah, well, who do you work for? So I work for Taco Bell. Oh, I love the bell. Yeah.

00:14:51 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 4:

Easy Gordita crying.

00:14:52 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And who do you send the bad customers to?

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Right down the street to Wendy's.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 8:

Ah, Wendy's. Nobody likes Dave Thomas.

00:15:03 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 6:

We've got KFC right next to us, and we eat there all the time, so we don't mess with them. But Wendy's, we'll send anybody there.

00:15:11 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 8:

Okay. I like that. I like that idea that you guys are sending each other your bad customers. Christina, this happens in the church game, too. Is that right?

00:15:20 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Jesus. No, no. I always just wonder that there'll be, like, a church of Scientology right next to a Baptist church or, like, Baptist right next to a Catholic. Like, I imagine I'm, like, standing right outside just mean mugging as they walk by.

00:15:34 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, that would actually be interesting, like, the different religions next door to each other. They got all the different churches there. That's a great idea. Hold on. John, the Amazon driver, wants to tell the guy from UPS to F off. Is that right, John? Hi, Johnny. John.

00:15:52 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's going on?

00:15:53 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 8:

What's going on, John? What did you want to say?

00:15:55 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 4:

so i actually deliver for amazon and we despise the ups drivers you don't aren't their uniforms ugly um not only that but they're just douchebags i wonder if when you walk up to somebody's

00:16:14 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 8:

business or house and if you see a package there that was delivered by one of the competitors do you kick it do you kick it out of the way so you can put yours right down

00:16:22 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 4:

no because you know amazon you know we you know we put it close to their front door we take a picture and then here comes or here comes up ups and i just throw a package on there and oh that's

00:16:37 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 1:

by the way amazon is the one that throws more is the worst at my house and fedex place them very

00:16:43 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 8:

gently against my door you need to be working my neighborhood because if you're that nice you're not my Amazon driver how smart are you it's Mojo in the mornings back in the

00:20:24 - 00:20:43 | Speaker 5:

up here right now what's up yeah i'm gonna start actually i'll start with iheart why not mariah Carrie Anderson-Pack together again at iHeart last night, fueling the rumors that they are more than just working on some new music together. He was the one helping her up onto the stage where she accepted her Icon Award.

00:20:44 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 1:

My Lamily, you've been with me through every step of this journey. Your love and loyalty are the greatest gift, and I'm endlessly thankful for each one of you.

00:20:59 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 6:

By the way, the tribute that was done to her and having Tori Kelly perform.

00:21:03 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 1:

Tori Kelly's amazing.

00:21:04 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, she was so good. And she was performing Mariah's Always Be My Baby. I mean, I thought it was Mariah singing.

00:21:15 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 5:

Tori Kelly has, man, a voice.

00:21:23 - 00:21:29 | Speaker 6:

I can't tell if Mariah seemed happy or was like, oh, this girl, what's going on here?

00:21:29 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 1:

She's still in the spotlight. I love Mariah.

00:21:32 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 6:

Mariah, by the way, when you meet artists face-to-face, you learn a new perspective of her. She was one of the nicest celebrities I have ever met face-to-face. We met at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas, and she let us come right into her dressing room. And they were kind of like, all right, you're going to go in there really quick. You're going to take a picture, and you're going to leave. And she was like, no, come on, sit down, hang out. I mean, she was like so amazing at spending time with you. Yeah. You don't hear a lot of that about Mariahs. Totally the opposite oftentimes. Honestly, she loves radio. She actually, her acceptance last night, I felt like it was a tribute to the iHeartRadio staff here and all the DJs and programmers and all that stuff.

00:22:14 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 5:

Other big winners last night, Benson Boone's Beautiful Things named Song of the Year.

00:22:20 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 4:

no surprise to me there this is a crazy job um it is not what i was expecting to do with my life and every day is a new adventure but i think something that is really really really really important for me in my career is having someone that believes in me and from the very beginning of doing radio interviews and promo and coming to radio stations um tom pullman has believed in me and iheart has believed in me and they have played my music and streamed my songs and Tommy P. Billie Eilish.

00:22:53 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 5:

Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, SZA Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Glorilla, all taking home trophies. By the way, going back to Mariah, she was one of three powerhouse women who won honorary awards last night. Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour was named Tour of the Century. You had Mariah, and then Gaga received the iHeartRadio Innovator Award for 2025.

00:23:15 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, iHeartRadio, for honoring the truth I've fought for in my music. And to every artist who's ever been told they're different, complicated, or too much, please, never change.

00:23:29 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 6:

And Billie Eilish was doing a lot with the awards, presenting, and Gracie Abrams was amazing. I don't know if they're going to replay it or are they streaming it somewhere? Because if you didn't see Gracie Abrams perform, she is. She's adorable. I wish we and I hope we have her at our jingle ball this year. She's so good.

00:23:49 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And by the way, next hour, a huge, huge something that Swifties spotted Taylor Swift wearing. Oh, yeah. So we'll get to that. President Trump said his administration going to release 80,000 pages related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy today.

00:24:09 - 00:24:21 | Speaker 2:

we are tomorrow announcing and giving all of the kennedy files so people have been waiting for

00:24:21 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 5:

decades for this he said they weren't going to redact anything so we'll see when that's released

00:24:27 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 6:

what are we hoping to find out today the cia killed him oh i think you know if you watch any of the movies the kennedy uh movies you'll see that or any of the documentaries but i will say that is a big one and they're saying that the martin luther king one oh we already knew that that that that the cia they're pointing fingers at has been responsible they believe for the death of a lot of the highest profile people so of course now come on the list goes on

00:24:56 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

and we need to start saying our goodbyes right now to fro

00:25:00 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Forever 21, they have filed for bankruptcy protection for a second time as people are not really going to the mall anymore. Mall traffic getting lighter and lighter. And they're facing a lot of competition from online retailers like Amazon, Timu, Sheen, Fast Fashion. No, Zara here to say. Zara is like a step up from Forever 21 for sure.

00:25:21 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 1:

They're coming for you, Zara. The bankers are coming for you to file bankruptcy.

00:25:26 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

I'd be naked if Zara went out of business. Can I tell you something?

00:25:30 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 1:

Today's a historic day. Today in the Detroit area, Macy's will not be Oakland Mall bound anymore. For those that grew up with going to Oakland Mall, I know that mall is pretty much a ghost. Is today the last day? I believe that today is the day.

00:25:44 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 2:

We thought they were staying open for like two more weeks.

00:25:46 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 1:

All those people that worked at that one and then the one that was in Sterling Heights, they're both closing and I think 200 plus people are going to be unemployed because of it. It's very, very sad. Oh, man. Wow. I wonder if it'll turn into a megachurch. That mall? Always do. Really? That would be happening. That's a big church, huh? Yeah.

00:26:04 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 2:

All right, Erica, this is how it all started. It all started when we would have Shannon weekday mornings take on a listener every single day. And then she suddenly just got really into destroying people's, you know, days by winning. she became such a champion she won like eight million of them you know like two it's my this

00:27:02 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 2:

is my favorite thing when we actually play smarter than shannon nowadays that the number changes every time it's eight million i think is the most i've won it is something big it's in the

00:27:10 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 1:

archives somewhere so uh erica you haven't started since the first day that you came on with us which was got three weeks ago or something like that so yeah i think so shannon is the ultimate champion She will go second. You will go first. Will you please ask her to leave our studio so I can ask you the questions?

00:27:29 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, can you please leave the studio? Good luck, Erica.

00:27:33 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 1:

That was actually very nice. Some people say, get your ass out of that studio. Erica's had class all 15 days, man. She's been amazing. She's been winning with a great school.

00:27:42 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 2:

And I got to say, Marjorie, you are mean.

00:27:45 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm mean? These questions. Listen, the last time I had to write these questions, I actually thought that they were actually fair, but these ones, I don't know. We'll sign out. Erica, here we go. Five questions. Question number one, March Madness kicks off this week. Who won last year's men's NCAA college basketball championship? I'll give you a multiple choice. That wasn't that hard. Let's get Shannon back in here. Shannon!

00:29:02 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 2:

She made it look easy. I would have never done that well, Erica. Never.

00:29:08 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 1:

How do you think Shannon's going to do?

00:29:10 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 2:

If she would do anything like me, two.

00:29:13 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

00:29:13 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 2:

00:29:14 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 1:

How did she do? How did Erica do?

00:29:16 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 2:

I think they're hard, but Erica did really well. She got four out of five. No.

00:29:20 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 1:

Four out of five.

00:29:21 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, girl. I told Erica, though, Shannon, I think I would have gotten two. Okay.

00:29:26 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, ready? Yeah. I got a sports question. I got a rapper question. Okay, okay. I'm ready for you.

00:29:31 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:29:31 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 1:

Question number one. You got to beat four out of five. You can only miss one of these to win with a tie. Question number one. March Madness kicks off this week. Who won last year's men's NCAA college basketball championship? I'll give you a multiple choice, so it's easy. Oh, okay. Is it A, Duke, B, UConn, or C, Kentucky?

00:29:51 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to say Kentucky.

00:29:53 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

You're going to say wrong. Go green. That's the only one. Go white. That's the only one you can miss.

00:30:00 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 4:

All right, so here we go. That's it. You cannot miss any more of these. Here comes the rapper question. Question number two.

00:30:07 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 2:

Night-night.

00:30:09 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 4:

00:30:12 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Bad Boy.

00:30:13 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 4:

Correct.

00:30:13 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 2:

One to two.

00:30:14 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 4:

All right, question number three. Last night on Fox, Lady Gaga won the iHeart Innovator Award. What does Gaga call her fans?

00:30:27 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Little Monsters. Correct. Two to three. That ain't too hard, right?

00:30:32 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 4:

Question number four. This is where it's hard.

00:30:36 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:30:37 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 4:

President Trump's vice president is J.D. Vance. What does J.D. stand for?

00:30:43 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I have no idea. John David.

00:30:48 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 4:

Both of you guys said that. No.

00:30:50 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

That's what she said, too.

00:30:52 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 4:

James David.

00:30:53 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 2:

We got a champion in our fight. David. the ultimate champion

00:31:00 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 4:

the last question you would have gotten

00:31:02 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 2:

wrong or right you would have gotten it

00:31:04 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 4:

speaking of real names SZA's real name is Solana Imani Roe spell SZA

00:31:11 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 2:

O-S-Z-A

00:31:13 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 4:

there you go yeah you would have gotten that right

00:31:14 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 2:

what was the answer to the first one

00:31:18 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 1:

UConn

00:31:20 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 4:

UConn I want to say thanks to all my family

00:31:25 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

and friends that were rooting me on. My family was listed in Orlando on iHeart and in Texas on iHeart, and they were just so supportive, and my family here in Michigan. I'm so, I'm just so excited. I love that.

00:31:38 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 4:

God, you are so good. You are, you know what? I think you're great, and I think what we should do is we should see if you can go another 15. Let's see if we can do another 15.

00:31:45 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 2:

It is kind of interesting, once we get used to somebody like Erica, in your case, tomorrow morning we wake up with two new contestants, and it always kind of feels to me like When you finish binge-watching a show, you feel a little depressed. You miss it. That's going to be us tomorrow morning, Erica.

00:32:00 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 4:

Lots of prizes.

00:32:01 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to respect you guys all day.

00:32:03 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, good. You're the best. We love you, Erica. Hold on a second.

00:32:05 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 is 6.55. 5, 5, 5, 5, 5. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

00:32:27 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. Hey, home of war, the roses, busting cheaters, second date update, finding out why you're getting ghosted, and the dirty on the 30, giving you everything that you're talking about at work with all your coworkers right here on the Mojo in the Morning show. So, Cav has a question to ask, and it involves people who owe you money. Are you lending money out to people?

00:32:55 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 5:

If I have it, I like to be an individual that if you have an access or excess. Really? You give a little.

00:33:02 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, do you have it? Because I would love some.

00:33:03 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 5:

How much do you need?

00:33:05 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, let me ask you. Are you like a loan shark? Like, do you ask for it back with a higher percentage?

00:33:11 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 5:

Do I have interest on it? No, I don't have interest on it. But I do have a friend, if he does ask for money, he will give a little extra. He does? Shout out to my guy. But this wasn't him this time, because I can count on him. And I got a couple of questions surrounding this. How long, if someone owes you money, can they go without reaching out to you? I got a couple out there, right?

00:33:32 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 1:

Same.

00:33:32 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 5:

I got a couple out there that still are going.

00:33:35 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 3:

I know he hasn't been burned because he's bringing this up.

00:33:38 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:33:39 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 5:

I mean, so this person is someone that has asked for money before. and they do a good job of returning the funds in which they borrow but this time it took them three weeks they asked for 45 on a tuesday said i get you back friday friday came and went the other friday came and went didn't hear from them yeah then the third friday came and they finally

00:34:01 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 4:

wait so you're actually thinking that they weren't specifying their fridays one of the

00:34:05 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 5:

fridays they're gonna pay you they said this friday they said i got you okay maybe they didn't I mean, they should have to. Honestly, you got it back at least. I did, but three Fridays later, and I'm not the type of person that I feel like if you owe me money, you know you owe me money.

00:34:20 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 4:

Are you sitting by the phone on the Friday? Like, are you waiting for it? Are you just going, it's going to ring any moment now?

00:34:26 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm looking at my cash app.

00:34:28 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 4:

What do they do? Oh, so they cash app you in.

00:34:29 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:34:29 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's how I send it to them. So here's the thing, because I've been told that I should do this with one person that owes me some money. I was told that I should send a Venmo request that I should request their money and see what they do with that. But I feel like that is kind of passive aggressive. It is.

00:34:48 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 5:

Not even kind of. Kind of. You floored it on that.

00:34:51 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 4:

But I don't know. How have you done this? How have you been able to get your money back when you've lent money to people?

00:35:00 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 1:

You know what the worst is when you've lent money to people is then maybe in your case, Kev, you're looking at this guy's social media and you're like, oh, he went to the bar. Oh, he was at he was at 12 Oaks. Yeah. Oh, OK. You know, went out to dinner with his girlfriend.

00:35:17 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 5:

Mine goes out of town to Vegas all the time. And that's the worst. Like mine that does it is always out having a great time hanging in Vegas. And I'm going, man, now I know why they needed the money. And I was told this after I'd been burned a bunch of times. I was told that you're just giving money. Like, and if you usually do it to somebody that you, like our family with, and you're just giving the money to them. I think I told this story on the air. I'll never, ever forget my goddaughter asked me for some money. And she wrote me a check for every single month that she was going to pay me back. She had a car issue. She needed a car, you know, and stuff. And so long story short, she wrote me a check and she would basically say, here's the written check. And if it, if it's not in there, it's going to be on me, not you. Um, and, uh, and, and paid me back. And actually I thought that was, and I will forever, you know, respect her for that, that she paid her bills.

00:36:13 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 1:

She gave you all the checks up front and just said cash it each month.

00:36:16 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So like, you know how when you buy a car in the, you know, back in the old days, they would give you like a payment coupon book or something like that. She kind of like, they made one for me, but it was all checks that she wrote out.

00:36:25 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 6:

I mean, if somebody asks for the money, hey, can I have $45? That's different. If you say, let me hold $45 and I'll send it back to you on Friday, I have an expectation that I'm going to get my money back on the day you said I was going to get my money back. I didn't say give it to me Friday. You said you were going to give it to me.

00:36:44 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 5:

What do you do if you are the person that's offering? I believe that if you offer, in some cases, hey, let me help you out, whatever, or I'll do this thing. those people nine out of ten times don't get paid back usually that's me i have a family member who

00:36:58 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

i offered to help and it was thousands of dollars and i offered they did not ask and i've never seen that money back how did you and part of me now is like well you offered you didn't say me i don't think i ever said make sure you pay me back it was just assumed yeah and i've i've never and it I could have really had that money.

00:37:22 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 5:

The worst is when they ask you for it, and it's because they're asking you for it because they got kids, and you don't want to see the kids getting screwed. But in reality, what are we teaching, you know? Yeah. All right.

00:37:35 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 4:

Put away your pistols. I got Kevin's money. I'll pay you on some Friday coming up.

00:37:46 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 5:

What's up? Noe, hi.

00:37:48 - 00:37:48 | Unknown:

Noe.

00:37:49 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hey, so, Kev, I got to say, so if I give somebody money, in my mind, that's one, it's money that I can afford. Two is I don't count on it because the only thing, it coming back, because the only thing I ever count on is money in my hand. Mm-hmm.

00:38:06 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:38:07 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 3:

You know, because that way, if I give out that money in the future, it's not going to hurt me that I needed it.

00:38:14 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Noe, who will you lend money to and who will you not lend money to?

00:38:20 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'll lend money to anyone that shows me that they're a friend or they're responsible. Now, if you burn that bridge, that bridge don't get built again.

00:38:30 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, that's smart. Would you give it to or lend it to a coworker? Because sometimes I feel like, you know, that makes it very difficult. I'd rather have uncomfortability with family than uncomfortability in work.

00:38:43 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, see, everyone knows when I tell them, and even with family, when we do business, it's business. When it's family, it's family. I keep that separate.

00:38:50 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:38:51 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 3:

You're so handsome. You don't get a business loan from me, from a co-worker.

00:38:55 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 5:

Would you ever break somebody's legs for the money back?

00:38:59 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, if I had a million dollars, maybe, but I'm too broke for that.

00:39:04 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 5:

The guys who always tell me the stories about how gambling debt, they'll get into gambling debt, and then they're worried that somebody's going to come and break their legs. I'm like, oh, my God, who are you dealing with? Right, Sopranos. And where are those guys living? I don't want to be having them mistake me for you, you know. What's going on? Is it Anna or Anna? Hello.

00:39:29 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

00:39:30 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 5:

Anna or Anna?

00:39:32 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 2:

Anna.

00:39:33 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Anna?

00:39:34 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how y'all doing?

00:39:35 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 5:

Anna Manapia.

00:39:37 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Anna Manapia.

00:39:38 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 5:

How you doing?

00:39:39 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing good. How about yourselves?

00:39:41 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 5:

Fantastic. Have you lent money to somebody and gotten burned?

00:39:45 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I loaned some money to a friend to send her daughter to camp. And she said that she was going to pay me back within a matter of, you know, a couple of weeks. I said, fine. So a couple of weeks came by. She never paid back and gone and on. So the only thing I learned from that that my father told me is that

00:40:03 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 4:

don't loan them money if you can't afford to lose the money because sometimes people just don't pay you back.

00:40:08 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 1:

How much money are we talking about?

00:40:10 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 4:

$245.

00:40:11 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Jesus. Wow. So, and you wanted to send her kid to camp. And I bet you in the time that she has not paid it, I bet she's out and about eating McDonald's. Of course. And she's living her best life.

00:40:28 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, of course. because, you know, she was talking about she's going to a casino for this and that. I'm like, okay.

00:40:32 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 2:

No money in the slot.

00:40:35 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 1:

Do we know if her daughter even went to camp?

00:40:40 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 2:

Did she go to Camp MGM? I was. That's a possibility. I could have a little kiddie camp up there.

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 1:

Wow. There's always that possibility.

00:40:49 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 2:

Learn how to count cards. Camp Roulette.

00:40:52 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 1:

She's up in Mount Pleasant right now at the camp. Camp Casino. Poncho. We got a chance to see Poncho face-to-face. Boy, you do not look like what I thought a Poncho would look like.

00:41:04 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 3:

What did you expect me to look like? A red coat?

00:41:06 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 1:

No. For some reason, you're like some white dude. I thought you were like a Mexican guy or something.

00:41:13 - 00:41:13 | Unknown:

Me too.

00:41:13 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 3:

I am Hispanic, though.

00:41:15 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 1:

Are you really? You're like me. Everybody doesn't believe I'm Cuban, but, you know, what are you going to do?

00:41:19 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, people tell me I'm too tall and too short to be Guatemalan.

00:41:23 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's nice to have met you face-to-face. What's going on? You've lent some money out, huh?

00:41:28 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 3:

I borrowed $600 from a friend's mother because I went through a rust patch because I got my car total out several years ago. And she told me to pay it back when I got the money back. It took me almost two years to pay her back.

00:41:43 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 1:

Did you feel bad every time you would see her?

00:41:46 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:41:47 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I always wonder, the people that borrow the money, do they feel horrible, you know? I mean, that's got to be tough. Did you find that you crossed her path way more than you normally would? I feel like that happens.

00:42:03 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 3:

In my case, yeah, because I always went to their house almost weekly.

00:42:07 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, that's crazy. Well, Poncho, it's good to talk to you, buddy. Denny, what's up, Denny?

00:42:14 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning. What's going on? Hey, you know, we're not talking about the guys or the people that would call you and say, oh, you know, my mother's sick or somebody that claimed my family member is sick and they need the money for it, even though they know they're lying about the money they want to borrow, they'll never see it again. Those guys are the sad ones. They're scum. That happened to me.

00:42:33 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, those people are scumbags because they're faking that their family member is sick just to get some cash from you.

00:42:39 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this guy was calling me telling me his mother is sick, she needs a surgery, blah, blah, blah. I just need a couple hundred dollars. What kind of surgery is a couple hundred dollars?

00:42:47 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

We had a former DJ here at the radio station who listeners have heard on the air. This is years ago. decades ago who told me that her mother was dying and her mother died and then all of a sudden a year later miraculously she came back to life wait what yeah yeah it's so sad it's so it's crazy wow those are those are the ones where i'm like man i want medical records now did they ask for money or time off i think it was he hung up i think it was no i was talking to you oh me no They wanted money. They wanted, she wanted money to pay for her mom's medical bills and funeral. Terrible. I paid for a funeral for a mysterious, that's crazy. Yeah. Karen. She's coming back with tan lines. Karen, what's going on?

00:43:33 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi, good morning. I was just calling to say, I'm up, can you hear me?

00:43:38 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got you.

00:43:40 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I was upset because my son ended up treating, not treating, it was supposed to be alone. He ended up taking his best friend to a concert and bought, the tickets were like outrageous. They were like $500, and it's been over a year now, and he has not seen one dime of that money from his best friend.

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

What concert was it?

00:44:04 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 2:

It was Olivia Rodrigo, I think it was last. Their spring break plans fell through, so then he decided to get this brilliant idea to do it, but there was intent to pay back for the, you know, the tickets. And she never, she never paid them back. And as a mom, it makes me so mad.

00:44:21 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Would you ever pick up the phone and call? Because I remember one time when I was a kid, I pissed off somebody and their mom called me to yell at me. And it was, there was nothing ever worse than that, you know?

00:44:33 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 2:

No. Well, you know what? The thing is, I, he would kill me if I did, but believe me, the Italian mother in me wants to call. Oh, yeah. That's wrong. I would never ever and he's such a good kid and all my kids are very generous like that and it's heartbreaking because that's a lot of money for a young kid

00:44:52 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 1:

absolutely by the way call because it will make that person feel like crap and it's good to do that they owe money

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

it's good to do that

00:45:00 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 1:

You see lent $8,000 to who?

00:45:06 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 3:

To my ex-boyfriend.

00:45:07 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you...

00:45:08 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 3:

While he was an ex or while you were dating?

00:45:11 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 2:

While we were dating. Okay.

00:45:13 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Man. And then he left you?

00:45:18 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 2:

Yep. He cheated on me again.

00:45:21 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 1:

Again.

00:45:22 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

And... Yeah, and then he blocked me.

00:45:24 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 1:

What did he use... Wait, what did he use the $8,000 for?

00:45:28 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 2:

he got a dui oh my god did you sue him like that's a lot of money i i i felt trust me i think about it all the time you need judge judy on this one judy justice

00:45:42 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 1:

on this literally that's crazy don't you wish that he was just in jail still for his dui yeah

00:45:50 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, literally.

00:45:51 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing.

00:45:53 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 2:

At least I don't have my money.

00:45:54 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 1:

You single?

00:45:55 - 00:45:55 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:45:57 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm happily in a relationship now.

00:46:00 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 1:

That guy asked you for money. You're not going to give it to him, are you?

00:46:04 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, we'll keep it separate for a while.

00:46:06 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. That's smart. Kev's like, she got $8,000. I might go out with her. Call us. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:46:18 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the morning.

00:46:20 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. God, I feel like such an a-hole. So I'm sound asleep. I went to bed. Chelsea stayed up. She was going to watch 90 Day Fiance on the DVR. And I had such a sound sleep going. And I don't know what time it was, maybe 11-ish or something like that. She came to bed. She said that I was sleeping like an angel. So she got over me and gave me a kiss at the point I was in a dream thinking I was getting carjacked in our radio station parking lot. Stop. And I started swinging. What? On Chelsea? Thank God that my wife has good reflexes that she can get out of the way of a punch because otherwise I would have probably hit her. I freaking almost punched my wife in my sleep.

00:47:12 - 00:47:13 | Unknown:

No.

00:47:13 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 1:

Has that ever happened to any of you guys? No. Is there anybody that has ever, like, punched whoever they were laying next to in bed?

00:47:21 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 3:

I have.

00:47:22 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 1:

You have?

00:47:22 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 3:

I have, and I've kicked him, too.

00:47:24 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 1:

Jeez.

00:47:25 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm bad. I'm really bad at that.

00:47:27 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 1:

I felt horrible about the whole thing. She was like, oh, my God, I was just trying to give you a kiss. I'm like, holy crap. I'm like, my heart started racing. I'm like, I was getting carjacked, and I was in the parking lot here at the radio studios, and I was, like, freaking out. And now it's funny because I pull in the parking lot here all the time. I'm, like, looking around. You know what I mean? Because you're wondering what's going on. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, have you ever had a nightmare and got violent in your dream because your nightmare was so crazy? It was like insanity that that happened. I guess it's called REM sleep behavior disorder, where you get violent movements and stuff that happen in your sleep, and sometimes your partner's on the other end of those violent movements.

00:48:10 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 3:

Lucy must have that, because whenever I sleep with Lucy, she doesn't punch necessarily, but she does lead these like crazy and you can't see me because this is the radio but like she like kicks and like moves her arms and like but she's strong so if you're sleeping next to her like you are you're gonna get it you're in the way do you ever go into her room in the morning and like her covers are all over the place every single day i bet every single day that's how her

00:48:34 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 1:

bed is it's funny because it's crazy does she say does she get good sound sleep though because i feel like that on those sleep nights i get the best sound sleep it's weird i don't know although I will say this, though. The last few weeks, I found myself sleeping in the same position the entire night, waking up, and my body hurts me because I've been laying in the same spot the

00:48:53 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 3:

entire time. That's how I sleep. I call that Dracula sleep. I love it. Dracula sleep? I sleep in a little teeny-tiny ball, all curled up. And then I just raise up with my hands crossed on my chest, and I just stand up. Dead.

00:49:06 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 1:

I want to sleep in your bed. What's up? Mariah, what's going on?

00:49:13 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you?

00:49:14 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Good. Mariah, what did you do?

00:49:17 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 2:

I have accidentally punched my husband, like, multiple times. It just happened, like, two days ago. He kisses me goodbye because he leaves, like, way earlier than me in the morning. Oh, gee. And I'm a really heavy sleeper. And he, like, texted me later that day and was like, yeah, you punched me this morning when I said goodbye to you.

00:49:37 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 1:

You don't even realize you punched him?

00:49:40 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 2:

I don't, no.

00:49:41 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. That poor guy. Does he ever have a black eye?

00:49:45 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 2:

No, thank goodness. Nobody knows.

00:49:48 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 1:

That's the part that I'm so worried about is I don't want to get violent like that in my sleep and then have it be where I hurt her. Because it sounds like an excuse. I don't want to leave marks. You sounded a little shocked that she couldn't remember. remember and you could like you remembered pulling back what's up brooke how you doing

00:50:05 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 6:

good how are you guys good brooke what did you do um so i was dreaming and my husband came to bed and he does not like anyone to touch his face ever but he said i was in such a good deep sleep that i started like patting his face to make sure it was him next to me so he thought really i was having a dream where i was being attacked and i he said i reached my thumb underneath his eyeball

00:50:32 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 7:

oh my gosh that's worse to me that's intentional you are a bad bitch you're pretending this is the story you're giving that's insane um belita listen to what

00:50:49 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 5:

belita's husband did in his sleep what's going on belita hey how are you we're good um my husband and he's a firefighter, so he's always talking in the sleeping stuff. So I was sleeping peacefully one night, and literally he, like, put both of his arms around me and started choking me. I'm like, what the heck is going on?

00:51:07 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What was he dreaming about? This is murder, dude.

00:51:10 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea, but we joke about it because I'm like, okay, if I have a little scratch or something on me, I'm like, did you hit me or something?

00:51:18 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 2:

You need a rain cam. Belita, I don't think I've ever or we ever talked to you before. Have we talked to you before?

00:51:26 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm the first time. First time, a lot of times.

00:51:31 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 3:

We're going to give you a safety number to call. Man, we love you, Belita. Take care of yourself. Oh, my God. Hold on, Jennifer. What did your husband do in his sleep?

00:51:45 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. He has the same reaction. he he no matter what type of sleep he's in if i try to wake him up as a matter of fact i step back he puts his fists up and sometimes he does swing but one time in particular we we were watching a something on tv in the front room and a large bird flew into a window right above like where i was sitting and my husband had fallen asleep with a beer bottle in between like his legs and he picked it up and threw it like it hit the wall right above my head and shattered oh my god oh yeah it was we were both so thankful that you know nothing had occurred but that was one of the worst times yeah he's constantly startled out of his sleep i don't know if something happened to him when he was a child but no matter what stage of sleep he's in it'll happen that's craziness that's

00:52:38 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 3:

unbelievable they picked up the bottle yeah it's amazing he didn't spill the bottle like while it's

00:52:42 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 1:

just sitting there in between his legs see i'm torn because i would be scared to get hit but also i've been with guys that like just don't wake up and protect you so it's nice to know that like

00:52:52 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 3:

he's on it he did even if he's beating you up in the middle of the night but

00:53:42 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 7:

Well, the parents of missing University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksa Konanke won Dominican Republic officials to declare their 20-year-old daughter dead despite authorities never finding her body. This just absolutely breaks my heart. So the family sent a formal letter to authorities yesterday acknowledging, yes, they understand there is no suspected foul play here after she vanished from that beach in Punta Cana in the early morning hours of March 6th. They said they also understand certain legal hurdles must be met to declare her dead. They are ready to provide any necessary paperwork. This request, by the way, comes the day after, or comes, excuse me, the same day, actually. The lawyer for that 22-year-old college student, Joshua Reib, argued that her client needs to be released from police surveillance already. Authorities have described him as a person of interest, but they say he is not a suspect and he is not accused of any sort of wrongdoing.

00:54:44 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 3:

I thought he went back and I saw the news reports over the weekend that they took his passport away and they're keeping him there.

00:54:49 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah.

00:54:49 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

He's stuck in the room. They say that, according to his attorney, that he's not allowed to leave the room at all. They're bringing him food and stuff like that. They're kind of like waiting for...

00:55:00 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 2:

more to come in this investigation i just saw this the story this morning when we were talking about it and i thought i don't to to come forward and say i i i want my daughter to legally be declared dead it is just oh uh could reputation taylor's version be happening soon taylor during last night's i heart radio music awards was wearing a long sleeve black sweater a plaid miniskirt, this little silver choker, which was shaped like a snake, instantly catching the eye

00:55:31 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 1:

of every single Swifty watching. This tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I've ever done in my life. It's a three and a half hour show, more shows than I've ever done on a tour. And it really was the most gratifying thing I've ever done. I think about that tour constantly.

00:55:48 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm so proud of it. That's part of her speech as she accepted the Tour of the Century Award for the eras tour and following that i heard aired an exclusive performance of mirror ball from opening night of the eras tour back in glendale arizona this was march 2023 so we got

00:56:05 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 4:

to see that let me play that for you hold on a second here we don't need to play this

00:56:09 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 1:

You found me on my toadest fingers.

00:56:13 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

00:56:14 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 1:

Spitting in my heart, your tears, look. Shining is just for you. Hush, I know this at an end is near.

00:56:25 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 2:

Big clue. Wow. Benson Boone's Beautiful Things, named Song of the Year. Gracie Abrams, Breakthrough Artist of the Year. SZA took R&B Artist for the third year in a row. Jelly Roll, Glorilla winning trophies, and Sabrina Carpenter, Pop Artist of the Year.

00:56:42 - 00:56:55 | Speaker 5:

Look at her. Is SZA that great, or do we not have more R&B out there? Three years in a row is like... You're going to be the artist that I've always wanted to be, so thank you so, so much.

00:56:55 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 3:

That was who? That wasn't SZA, that was Sabrina Carpenter. That was Sabrina Carpenter, yep. Why, we got something against SZA?

00:57:00 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I think SZA's brilliant. I think she's beautiful. I think her songs are incredible. But three years in a row, I think for any category, for any award show, for any sport, that's a huge accomplishment. I'm just wondering, is it a lack of R&B? How do you get three in a row?

00:57:17 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 4:

If it was LeBron James or Kanye West winning. You wouldn't be saying this. You probably would be so happy.

00:57:23 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 5:

Speaking of. I need your help on this next story. We are talking about some of the greatest of all time.

00:57:27 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 2:

I need your help on this next story because you follow Kanye a lot closer than I do. So this story that Kim Kardashian is considering changing her custody agreement with Kanye because of this song that he dropped featuring North without Kim's permission, even though I guess he asked for Kim's permission, but she said no. I don't know if you know anything more about that.

00:57:48 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 5:

The biggest reason is that it's featuring Diddy. Right. Diddy is on this song.

00:57:53 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 2:

Obviously, Kim wants nothing to do with this. She wants her kids to have nothing to do with this. So right now, they share joint custody of their four kids, but I'm hearing Kim may push to take away Ye's legal say in parenting decisions after he ignored their agreement, dropped this song, again, featuring Diddy anyway. And she is telling people, yes, I want my kids to have a relationship with their dad, but maybe this is the time when I pivot and we go back to court and we revisit this custody arrangement and agreement.

00:58:28 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 1:

Do you think she doesn't have decision making already?

00:58:32 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, everything's joint. So I don't know what their actual settlement or agreement is, but it sounds like they both have a say at this point. i would be shocked yeah and lastly we are getting a new area code in the detroit area the 313s are running out guys so starting october 7th every local call made within the 313 area you're gonna have to dial the area code i guess this is if this is for landlines i don't know um i dial it anyway so well it just if you're using your cell phone it it automatically does the whole number but yeah

00:59:09 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I do the whole thing, so I don't even know what you're talking about.

00:59:11 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

So a dwindling supply of numbers is to be blamed here, so they're adding 679. 679. Fetty Wap is going to get a lot of play over the next couple of months.

00:59:21 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 3:

Look at that. I like that. Did we pick that ourselves?

00:59:24 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Now, here's the thing. This is only for new numbers. So if you have a 313 number right now, nothing is changing for you except starting in the fall, you're going to have to dial area codes. Now, new numbers in this new 679 area code are only going to be assigned to new customers once numbers in the 313 area code have been exhausted. And they're projecting that's probably not going to happen until the fourth quarter of 2027. So we've got a while before anybody might actually get that number. But just in prep for that is when you have to start dialing your area code this year.

00:59:57 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 5:

Wow. I wonder if you can start selling your number.

01:00:00 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 3:

numbers. Your 313? Yeah. What a great number. Great area code, huh? The 313? Never let mine go. Are we going to celebrate 6-7-9 day now? I don't know if we can. We can. I don't think so, right? In your Mars.

Take care. All right. War of the Roses busting cheaters here on the Mojo in the Morning show. If you ever suspect that the person that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you, text cheater to 95500.

01:03:00 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:03:06 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 3:

Claire thinks that her boyfriend and the father of her baby is cheating on her. and what are some of the things that you have felt uneasy about?

01:03:18 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 6:

So I was cleaning out our basement and I found a wedding ring in a box. An engagement ring or a wedding band? An engagement ring.

01:03:31 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 3:

And has there been conversations of you guys getting engaged?

01:03:37 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 6:

No, none of that.

01:03:39 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 3:

Has he been married before?

01:03:42 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 6:

Mm-mm. No.

01:03:43 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Could he have been married before and he's not telling you the truth?

01:03:48 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 6:

I mean, maybe, but I feel like he's usually pretty straightforward with me, so.

01:03:55 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 3:

Except for the fact that you think he's cheating right now. Well, yeah.

01:03:59 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 8:

What is making your mind go to him cheating versus, oh my gosh, he might actually be trying to surprise me and propose to me?

01:04:08 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 6:

I think because I've communicated my thoughts about marriage and I'm pretty hesitant about it. And also, I said that if we were to get engaged, I have a very specific style and aesthetic and he knows that. And this spring was not that at all. So it didn't feel like it was for me.

01:04:38 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

Is there any other things that have made you feel like he's got somebody else in his life?

01:04:44 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 6:

Since becoming pregnant, my hormones have changed, and so we haven't been as sexually active. I'm thinking that maybe that could be part of it. How far along are you? About five months.

01:05:00 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 3:

Is it possible that he's just an idiot boy that picked out the wrong ring? Maybe, but my intuition is telling me no.

01:05:10 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

And he normally would be wanting to have sex? This is not unusual? Or is it very unusual?

01:05:20 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 3:

No, he would be. I think that it feels like there's just more disinterest from him overall. Like it doesn't feel like he's struggling as much with the fact that we haven't been having sex, which is another reason why I think maybe he's getting it from somewhere else.

01:05:43 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Mute your phone. So hit the mute button on your phone and don't jump on at all until we say something to you. Okay.

01:05:56 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay.

01:05:57 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 2:

All right. Do that right now. And we're calling up and hoping that he sends the flowers to Claire. It's the War of the Roses.

01:06:16 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

01:06:16 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 1:

01:08:07 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay, what's your relationship to you? um yeah it's my fiance okay and dylan we do something unique at rosesbloom.com we offer instead of a paper card with the flowers a digital voice card so when the flowers get delivered today rachel's going to get a text message alerting her that she has a delivery and then she'll be able to play this voice memo and know who they're from so i'm going to count you down in just a second and we're going to record you could say anything that you want you

01:08:41 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 4:

can make it long short just kind of start talking all right okay three this is just like this is just what i'm saying to give her the roses yeah like you could you could say what you would put

01:08:55 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 1:

on a card or just a little message that she could play to know you know that the flowers are from

01:08:59 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 4:

you okay okay gotcha three two one hey babe i hope you enjoy these can't wait to see you this weekend and i love you so much okay are you good with that

01:09:20 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 1:

01:09:33 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 4:

01:09:46 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

training purposes? Are you okay with that? Yeah, it's fine. Okay. And Dylan, I need to just tell you a couple last things and then I'm going to let you go and we'll send those flowers off.

01:10:00 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 1:

One of those things that I wanted to tell you is that while you have been sending the flowers to Rachel and she, you said, is your fiance? Yeah. Your girlfriend, Claire, has been listening into this and just heard every word that you just said.

01:10:25 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Are you? What?

01:10:30 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 1:

Dylan, do you have a girlfriend named Claire? Dylan. Dylan, you have a girlfriend named Claire. You have a fiance named Rachel.

01:10:52 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 3:

And a baby on the way.

01:10:53 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

does rachel know about claire because claire does not know about rachel do you claire do you know who rachel is

01:11:09 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 3:

no i don't know who rachel is

01:11:14 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

and dylan what were you going to do this weekend you're going to spend the weekend with uh with this girl? Dylan, I know you have not hung up the phone because I can hear that you're there and the line still says you're there. What was, what was supposed to go on this weekend, Claire? How was he supposed to be away and be with somebody else?

01:11:44 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 3:

Said he had a work trip, of course I guess he didn't

01:11:55 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 1:

Dylan, how were you going to keep all this together? How were you going to be able to keep Having the double life thing going on? And maybe we think we found out the reason why he's been acting weird since you said that you were pregnant, Claire, because he's trying to figure out how to tell his fiance about that.

01:12:27 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand why he's still on the phone if he's not talking.

01:12:33 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 1:

Dylan, do you have guts enough just to say something to Claire? Can you explain this to her? Maybe we call up Rachel And we'll explain it to her right now

01:12:53 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

You just ruined one relationship Don't ruin the other one

01:12:59 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 1:

Don't Don't ruin the other relationship So you don't You think we're ruining the relationship And you're not the one ruining the relationship Claire, we are going to try to call that number. And let's call this woman. I want you to hang on the phone, okay?

01:13:25 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:05 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. What's going on? Jay, hi.

01:14:11 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. I think we should call Rachel.

01:14:13 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

We're trying. We're trying. We're trying. Okay. What are you thinking? So what are you thinking there is the story? Do you think that this is a fiance that was going to get that ring? Or do you think she already has a ring and he was going to give another ring out?

01:14:33 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I think he was going to give her the ring and propose possibly this weekend. Who knows? and then just leave clear in the dark. That's so horrible. That's so horrible for her.

01:14:43 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 1:

The idea that he's already calling her his fiancée and that...

01:14:47 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 3:

She might not even have a ring on her finger yet.

01:14:49 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 1:

And here's a mother of his baby, you know, the woman carrying his baby.

01:14:52 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 3:

And he loves her so much.

01:14:53 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. Working on the call to this girl that he sent it to, this Rachel girl.

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Katie, hi. War of the Roses.

01:15:02 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Hi, good morning, you guys. Good morning.

01:15:05 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:15:07 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 6:

I'm just wondering what his plan was for his child. Correct. What was he going to tell Rachel?

01:15:15 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 5:

That's what is, I'm trying to wrap my brain around because this is a true double life. This isn't just two different women you've got going on. this is a woman and now in a couple of months your child and then a fiance and a wedding and you know a new house or apartment or whatever like two totally separate lives like how are

01:15:37 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 4:

you not gonna have shared custody or like that kid has to come around exactly they'll find the

01:15:43 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 6:

father you know she's i don't know i just feel so bad for this girl i want to believe i want to know

01:15:50 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 3:

how many people have ever had somebody that was leading double lives like this and how crazy of a double life did they lead? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Diamond, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses recap. What's going on?

01:16:06 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. First time, long time. Hey there. So is it just me? I think a lot of women, including this lady who's a victim, are getting to the point where they don't ask questions because they're so scared they're going to lose their man. They're settling for things. I've never heard a five-month, five-month pregnant woman say, oh, I don't want to get married. Like, did you not want to get married? Or is that a conversation he had, and now you're just falling forward? So I know he's trash, but I'm just like, at what point are we going to start holding these men accountable, like asking questions, like, oh, you're going on a work trip? I'm sure this isn't his first one. Like, it just doesn't make sense.

01:16:44 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's, and that's, you know, interesting is, did she really did you know and i'm gonna ask her that question when we come here back with her in a second because we're having issues trying to get her on the uh or get uh rachel this other girl on the phone um did she really not want to get married is there a woman that would be carrying

01:17:04 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 1:

a person's baby that would not want to get married i i don't know i think one of the things that diamond just touched on it makes me think is i think a lot of times in relationship we settle for truth when we should be seeking transparency yeah and if i ask you what you're doing and i say i'm going on a work trip that sounds truthful but the transparency is hey this is what i'm going for this is what i'm doing this is who else is going yeah transparency is key uh claire we're having

01:17:31 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 3:

issues trying to get this other woman on the phone this person that uh that he sent the uh the flowers to so we're running we're running into uh kind of a struggle with that right is is he um god i feel like we're not getting her any answers other than with the

01:17:50 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 4:

answer we just got the big answer is finding out that he has another fiance and for sure but how is he able to do that does he go out of town a lot for work or because this is a true double life

01:18:01 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 5:

yeah you got a baby on the way you're getting married Yeah, he traveled a lot

01:18:08 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 8:

But I didn't really think too much of it

01:18:11 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 3:

The phone number is a number That's within the area here So that's the thing That's interesting So I don't know if they travel together for this Or if she has any high clue Hang on one second And let's see what else we can get out of this, okay?

01:18:35 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

01:18:37 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 3:

All right, where are the roses? Chloe, what's up, Chloe? How you doing?

01:18:41 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 8:

Good. How are you guys this morning?

01:18:43 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 3:

We're doing okay. We're feeling bad here for Claire. What's going on? I know.

01:18:47 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 8:

I feel really bad for Claire. Well, I was in a similar situation during COVID. I was pregnant with my son about to give birth, and I found out that my boyfriend at the time was living a double life and got someone else pregnant and was bouncing back and forth from houses. Saying that he was just working late. And when I went into labor, he was sending pictures to another woman that he was messing around with as well of my son when he was born. So, yeah. Go ahead, Megan.

01:19:19 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 4:

Was he staying the night with you?

01:19:22 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 8:

Yes, he would stay the night with me three days out of the week and then go to her house and say he was staying with a buddy because he worked out in Detroit. That it would just be easier that way to save gas. And how did you finally bust him? um facebook because the girl wanted to be petty and post them on facebook and of course

01:19:41 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 2:

fbi agents we know so that's how i found out um what what was the text with your baby's picture

01:19:49 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 8:

what did he say it was it was a picture of him holding him like fresh out of the womb with a caption saying my son's here Thank you.

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 1:

So she knew about you and knew that you were pregnant with her, with the baby?

01:20:03 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 3:

But you didn't know about her. Yeah.

01:20:05 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:20:05 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

I had no idea about her yet, but he promised her this lavish life and that once I give birth, he was going to break up with me. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But it's okay. Karma has her, so.

01:20:15 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? You think she listens to the show? I often wonder that.

01:20:19 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 3:

I hope so. I hope so. What you got to say to her? I hope she does. That karma's eating you up and that I see it every single day.

01:20:28 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 1:

Wow, so you actually still see her?

01:20:31 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah. We live in the same township, so.

01:20:34 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God.

01:20:35 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 3:

She'll know exactly who I am if she hears me. She knows my voice.

01:20:40 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 1:

Chloe, I wish you nothing but the best. I appreciate you.

01:20:43 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

01:20:44 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Any more double life people, Lydia, on these lines? I want to hear from a guy. I want to hear a guy who was living a double life. I want to hear from that perspective. Michelle, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:20:59 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Hi. So, yeah, I have quite an interesting one. It's been about 28 years. My daughter's 28, but about a month before my daughter's first birthday, I sort of was getting suspicious of my ex-husband, husband at the time. And it was back when we didn't have, like, cell phones, pagers. and he worked night supposedly and I went through his call log on his bill and there was a consistent number that kept showing up so I called it and found out that he had another daughter that was about two months older almost to the day than my daughter. Wow so he was checking in on her Well, she would text him consistently and was sort of living a double life. He actually repoed cars for a living, and, you know, he would be overnight in Ohio, Indiana. We lived in Michigan at the time, and, yeah, I mean, he had me fooled for a while. He tried saying it wasn't his daughter. She ended up sending pictures, and that girl looks literally identical to him. Oh, my God.

01:22:17 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 1:

No, it was crazy.

01:22:19 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 2:

It was crazy. It was crazy.

01:22:21 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I could only imagine. Heather had found out that your ex was living a double life. How did you find this out, Heather?

01:22:31 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 4:

We were in a really good place, and I was trying, like, how to face a marriage. I didn't know what was going on. And he just started acting different, and he played softball. This is coming up on softball season, and he was gone all the time and didn't want me there. So he just decided to erase our whole life one day on Facebook, and I knew something was off. And I'll skip ahead a little bit, because it's a long story. I had everything when I met him. My house, everything paid for. We had just moved back from Florida before the pandemic hit, and I had breast reduction surgery, and I figured he was back. He was a good guy. So now that I don't have a house, I'm putting this all together since this all happened. I got a message on Facebook from a girl and apparently she met my husband on a dating app. He had done multiple dating apps. He told her we were divorced for three years. Had my seven-year-old at the time around her. Had my seven-year-old lie to her that we were divorced, that we weren't still living under the same roof.

01:23:28 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's hot.

01:23:30 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 4:

So I lost everything and it was his back child support. The reason I lost my house I had to sell it and get out from under that. Said I'm disfigured, broke, I have nothing. I'm on disability. I can't work. I'm a seven-year-old. I didn't plan on having because this is my second marriage. Oh, my gosh. And I find all this out. And then on his way out, he decided when he was leaving, stopped his direct deposit, had all of our side hustle money that he lied about on the side, left me with all the bills, a seven-year-old, no money, on a fixed income, and I ended up living in a hotel.

01:23:58 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. That's interesting that he actually had a seven-year-old live. Why?

01:24:03 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 4:

How did your seven-year-old not tell you? We have a seven-year-old. Well, and he was smart. He took all of the money, and then he refused to pay child support until just two months ago. So it's been over a year. He paid no child support. And I can't even get an attorney because I don't have any extra money. I was homeless.

01:24:15 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

01:24:15 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 4:

I just got an apartment a couple months ago. But, yeah, it's just been a nightmare.

01:24:19 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:24:20 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 4:

We're never married.

01:24:21 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 1:

After hearing that story, Claire's feeling better about her life. Holy crap. Bro, like, how did you not turn her in?

01:24:27 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 2:

She didn't seem like me.

01:24:29 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 1:

Man, oh, man. Listen, boy, you just keep going on. But I got to ask you a question. And is he still playing softball?

01:24:37 - 01:24:38 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:24:39 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 4:

No, actually, the funny thing is, because that's what part of it was, that I didn't go with him enough to play softball. No, he hurt himself about a month after he moved out. And he can't play anymore. He had a surgery.

01:24:48 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 1:

I hope he tore, like, an ACL or something. All right, well.

01:24:53 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

It's something with his hand he fell. But my heart goes out for her. This isn't anything anybody wants to go through. No.

01:25:00 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to keep her in my thoughts and hope that something's come through for her.

01:25:03 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 4:

And we're going to keep you in our thoughts, too, Heather. You stay strong, okay? Hey, you're setting your own. Man, oh, man, that's crazy. Can you imagine having your kid lie for you? That's deep. That's a different level of dirty.

01:25:13 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 1:

All these stories, too, of double lives. It's nuts. I can barely keep up with my one life. I need to hear from a guy, though. You want a guy that...

01:25:21 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 4:

You're the one who's disappointing enough. I want to hear from the person that is living the double life. I want to get in the mind of the minute. Oh, you want to actually talk to the double. Yeah. Well, women, do women have double lives or no? Well, I mean, guys ain't calling up. You for sure, they got, man, I know a couple of them. Yeah, see if there's any of the people living the double life that will talk to us. Oh, man.

01:25:41 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. W-S-N-X Muskegon Grand Rapids. W-V-K-S Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:25:49 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:25:51 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:26:07 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

01:26:09 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:26:11 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo head.

01:26:16 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:26:18 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 4:

All right, coming up here in a second, Megan feels like she's being replaced by her dad's girlfriend's kids. That's happening. We'll do that topic right after we get done with War of the Roses recap. And then Shannon right afterwards where she's going to talk about the girl that is a grown-ass woman that still has baby teeth. We'll get into both of those in just a second here. This War of the Roses has got everybody talking. The podcast is up. The guy with the secret fiancé double life going on. and what she found in the basement that tipped off the cheater. You can go listen to it on the iHeart app. We got a guy living a double life. We got him. I don't know if this is your real name. Is your name Ray, or is that just the name that you like to give to the people that you're trying to have a double life with? That's my name. Okay. Ray, you were living a double life.

01:27:12 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 2:

I was up until like three years ago, and then I finally walked away from both of them.

01:27:17 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 4:

So you figured that none of them were worth keeping around or they both walked away from you?

01:27:24 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 2:

I walked away from both. I had children with both of them.

01:27:26 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 4:

What the heck are you doing? First off, Shannon brought up something very interesting when we were just talking about this. Why do you want to make your life so complicated? She can hardly, I can hardly, and all of us can hardly keep up with our own lives. Why do you want to have such a complicated life?

01:27:40 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't meant to be that way. I was leaving one, met someone else, and then I got back with the other and I got away with it for about two and a half years and then my girlfriend found out and she basically knew I was seeing the other woman and threatened to leave but never did and then she ended up getting pregnant. The side girl stayed around for a bit and she ended up getting pregnant. I had two kids within six months of each other. So what do you do to make the other

01:28:10 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 4:

person think that you're doing work or whatever your excuse was like do you have separate phones

01:28:17 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

for each of them uh no my girlfriend didn't know she didn't like to go out and party and i did so i just made the excuse to go out when i was going out to the bar you know going out to the casino

01:28:29 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 1:

and then the other one would go with me was there ever an instance where you accidentally texted something to the wrong girl or called and said something to the wrong girl that got them mixed up

01:28:39 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 2:

well the other girl knew about my girlfriend at home oh so she was in she knew she knew about it um and then one night i left my phone out and my battery was dead so when i got out of the shower she um she had had plugged it in and when it came on she read all the messages and she found out so they talked i went to sleep they talked for like seven hours that night and they figured out everything and dude you're that sound of a sleeper so it didn't sound like you left them it sounds like they found out no no no that was at the beginning after two and a half years and then after that um after the two and a half years they found out about a year later um my girlfriend got pregnant and then six months later or a few months later the other girl got pregnant and i was not supposed to have any more kids i was told by a doctor i wasn't supposed to have kids i look at

01:29:35 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 4:

I look at this guy, and I'm exhausted just thinking of him. Like, I'm thinking of the guy.

01:29:39 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it was exhausting. And then I finally left my girlfriend, and I was single. I hooked up with the other girls, and we had a child together also. And it just did not work out. So now I end up moving out of town, and, you know, I get to see my kids whenever I come into town and everything. But we have a good relationship.

01:29:59 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 4:

Do you feel bad? that these kids are the innocent victims of everything yeah yeah yeah uh it wasn't supposed

01:30:06 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 3:

to be that way and it got too messy and um it just i felt bad because it was like karma on my

01:30:13 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 4:

part and having two more kids i always wonder when people have these double lives do you have friends and family members that know about this or do they completely get left in the dark because

01:30:24 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 2:

you're afraid that they'll say something or do you have two separate groups of friends yeah you

01:30:28 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 3:

No, I had the same group of friends. My family knew about it. I lived a wild life, I guess. Yeah, I guess you could say.

01:30:37 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 4:

You said you had two more kids. How many kids do you have in total?

01:30:41 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 3:

Four.

01:30:42 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 4:

You know what's wild about this whole thing?

01:30:45 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 3:

I didn't want no more kids. I wanted two kids, and that was it. And I went to the doctor, and the doctor said, you'll never have another child. And then a month later, my girlfriend turns up pregnant.

01:30:56 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 1:

Did you get a vasectomy?

01:30:57 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 3:

no i didn't i just uh there i would never produce kids again that's what the doctor told me

01:31:04 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 4:

not a very good doctor i i find it interesting that i've got friends of mine guy friends of mine that can't find good girls out there you found two like what is that all about and uh you

01:31:14 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

know the second girl she she was a loyal loyal girl she was like she's the one i wanted to be with but i guess i never had the heart to actually get rid of the current girl because she always like try to like throw stuff at me and i'm like all right well you know i'll keep you for now but after i was with her for 11 years did you ever bring the girls to the same place like same restaurants and people just look at you kind of uh no not like that but i came home from work one day and they were both sitting on my front porch talking i'm like oh great man did your heart just sink uh when i pulled in my driveway yes uh yeah i did um but i don't regret it now given the fact i have two beautiful kids out of the ordeal but you know they're both they they was both mad about the the pregnancies because they wanted the opposites they want the opposites they both got

01:32:03 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

the opposites what they wanted they just wanted somebody loyal to them yeah yeah i was loyal but

01:32:10 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 3:

at the same time you know i was you know they knew about each other though you know it's not it's not technically all my fault because they both knew about each other they gotta take some

01:32:18 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 4:

accountability as well they knew about each other and they stuck with him and i'm like i was like i

01:32:24 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 3:

was young i was stupid and at the time i you know i was working a lot and you know i have one girl at home that was like the housewife and then i had the other one was like a partier so you know i had

01:32:34 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 1:

both about both both worlds at the beginning did they find out about each other and you said i'm ending it and they thought they were back to being the only one and you're like is yeah did he hang

01:32:46 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 4:

up no you're there still ray yeah i'm still here okay good okay yeah ray go ahead uh no um

01:32:54 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 1:

because either they knew about each other or they didn't i'm very confused about this did they find out at the beginning and then you said you ended it the uh the side chick which i

01:33:06 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 3:

considered her basically what she considered herself because she knew about my girlfriend at home my current the girl i was dating and living with she did not know for two and a half years yeah hold on and then once she found out once she found out i ended up the uh the relationship and i told her i ended it but i didn't canon what did you want to say oh geez mojo i just

01:33:30 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

had to say it's so funny to hear him say i found out she got pregnant and then six months later i found out the she got she got pregnant he got her pregnant right like yes terminology He's like, oh, she got herself pregnant.

01:33:45 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 4:

You got her pregnant. So funny. Yeah. Oh, my Lord. Kenan, don't you just seriously want to live his life for, like, one day just to see what it would be like?

01:33:53 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Maybe one day, Mojo. I don't think I could handle two.

01:33:56 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 4:

I know. Could you imagine? The delusion. Can you imagine when he pulled up in front of the house and they were both on the front porch? Were they drinking lemonade at the time and just hanging out with each other? Or were they, did they have, like, venom?

01:34:08 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

Oddly enough, my side chick was holding my son, the one that my girlfriend just had. Oh, my gosh.

01:34:16 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 4:

She was holding your other kids. Oh, my gosh.

01:34:19 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 3:

That's a whole level of all in the family.

01:34:21 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 4:

This is craziness. Man.

01:34:24 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 3:

It was wild, but, you know, my two kids now are eight and nine, so I don't regret it. You know, they're the best thing. You know, at least I got two more kids out of it.

01:34:33 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 4:

Do they have a relationship, the children?

01:34:36 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes. When I'm in town, the women don't, they don't, like, I guess, talk and let the kids visit. But when I'm in town, I get them all together. And, you know, we have a good time.

01:34:46 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 4:

And they all, like, hang out with each other, huh?

01:34:49 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:34:50 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, at this point, man, just be the best father you can be. Absolutely.

01:34:53 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

That's how I look at it. That's how I walk away from it is I have two great kids out of it, and I learn to be valuable.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 1:

mistake. Don't be having two women.

01:35:03 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 2:

By the way, that is amazing. Don't be having two women. Hold on a second here. That's a good one here. Hold on. Deep voice guy.

01:35:13 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

From our trailer park to yours, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:35:17 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 2:

All right. Thank you for the calls, guys. Bye, Kenan. See you, Ray. See you, Mojo. That's Double Life Ray on the Mojo in the Morning show. Holy Christ. I'm going to spit my water out. Man. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. I knew this was going to happen. I said it to myself. I didn't say it out loud because I would never say it because you would have killed me. But I knew it was going to happen. Megan has just been surpassed by her dad's girlfriend's kids.

01:35:46 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 3:

listen i'm not shocked either i'm not even gonna pretend to be like shocked i just didn't need it confirmed you know what i mean like i i knew my dad and his smoking hot girlfriend were going on vacation and i was really excited for them but we were talking about it was it yesterday or the night before it was the night before like when are you leaving where are you going because we thought he was going to hawaii or mexico turns out he's going to florida i don't know how i missed the mark on that one so far but i was shocked out here well i don't think he's ever vacationed to florida before so he loves hawaii he loves hawaii i thought he was taking his smoking our girlfriend to paradise turns out florida and i was we were actually making fun of him for it because you know florida and um like why wouldn't you take her somewhere nicer we thought you liked her i know wait i'm going to florida next week i'm really excited i said what i said i said what i said and when a man takes you to florida because it's florida and it versus hawaii well hawaii is

01:36:45 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 2:

like way on it's a it's all over the it's like you got to take a almost a 10 hour flight listen

01:36:50 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

that was his argument was i'm not wasting two days of my vacation getting there and back which is a very fair argument you can get to florida in a couple of hours it takes an entire day to get to hawaii i'll give you that can i get my story out it's not about that it's about me crapping up florida because then it turns out he didn't actually plan this vacation uh because he's going not with his children no he's going with his girlfriend's children and we were not invited yeah correct response shannon that gasp was correct how his girlfriend has two kids yes and how old are they like my or my brother's age we're all the same age they're all duplicates by the way love her daughters love her daughters we spend time together and they're amazing so i get why i'm being replaced right you were not asked at all to go on this trip no and i'm dying right i'm giving him so much crap about this i'm like oh is this where my inherit like can i get the sad violins please this is where my inheritance is going it's finally happening you're replacing us like have you already written us out of the will all this other things well it turns out my dad's not the bad guy here is me because apparently these kids play on the vacation but then he was like when did you ask me to go on vacation oh so they're taking their mom and your dad yeah it turns out I'm the bad guy

01:38:19 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 2:

okay who knew well you know what you definitely are getting replaced because I'll be quite honest with you that is such a nice thing for them to do

01:38:26 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 3:

it's an incredibly nice thing to do and I Terrible daughter Again, shot, gas, ma Nobody surprised

01:38:34 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you If I am your dad Matter of fact, I don't need to be your dad Your dad is right here If I'm your dad, I will forever be grateful Of these two wonderful girls These are the daughters You should have had, Scott

01:38:52 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 1:

Exactly I'm not really thrilled With my kids to begin with But this is so reinforcing. Oh, my God. You know what you need to do?

01:39:03 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 4:

I felt bad. When you're in Florida, you need to take the matching family photos with the white T-shirts and the jeans on the beach. And that's the photo you need to blow up for that beautiful living room overlooking the city. It needs to be the four of you.

01:39:19 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 3:

I would die. I would die. This man doesn't have one photo of me in his house. And if he has a family photo with her kids, I'll pee myself.

01:39:28 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 1:

And we could take Santa Claus hats and take a picture on the beach, and that could be my Christmas hat. Oh, my God.

01:39:34 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

That's great. So, Scott, what is the occasion that these wonderful girls are just, they just said, hey, we want to make sure that we take you guys away, huh?

01:39:47 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they do an annual family vacation, and they invited you to join them. So I'm going to say. Look at my kids. Never happened. Yeah. This is this is

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 6:

pretty crazy you know i i have to be quite honest with you they sound like wonderful young ladies

01:40:05 - 01:40:28 | Speaker 2:

seriously they really are yeah they are so so you know you know you've messed up with your kids right you look at joe and you think oh i could have done this i could have done that sure so and i'm kind of living in that moment looking at my kids going jeez did i mess up and now the bar is getting raised now i think wow i was a complete failure as a father you know megan her brother's not a lot better I mean

01:40:28 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 3:

and he's the good one

01:40:31 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 6:

you know what I hope is I hope this gives them an idea like I hope that you know Megan and her brother look at this and say you know what we better do something because if we don't

01:40:41 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 4:

step up the game here's the thing

01:40:43 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 2:

I mean you're kind of lame at that point I have to recover

01:40:50 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 4:

douchebag I will book us a full vacation if you give me all of your account logins for your hotel and frequent flyer mile points.

01:41:04 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 2:

Deal?

01:41:06 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 6:

Scott, do you think that you will be mindful of not trying to talk about... Are you worried? Because obviously it's tongue-in-cheek, Megan, with this. But it could be something that could be said over the edge of all of a sudden you come back with the nicest tan ever and you say that was the greatest vacation you've ever had.

01:41:26 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 2:

Again, the bar is low because I've traveled with my kids for years.

01:41:29 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I don't think we've ever had a good family vacation.

01:41:33 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 6:

Hey, why don't you do this? Fulfill all the thing and why don't you secretly get married?

01:41:40 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh.

01:41:44 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 6:

I hear she's a wonderful lady. I hear that she's a keeper. Listen, I would love for you to get married

01:41:51 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 4:

If you get married and I'm not there, I'll kill you.

01:41:55 - 01:41:55 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:41:57 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 6:

You're going to come home. Your apartment's going to be burned down. There's going to be a crime scene. Megan, is your brother just as salty as you are with us?

01:42:07 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

Yes. We just found out about this together, and we lost our minds because we already feel like the red-headed stepchildren of our own family. and then for it to be so just confirmed and acknowledged that we are, in fact, as disrespected as we feel.

01:42:23 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, Joe, you've met her brother. Does she seem like the kind that gets upset? No. I just got to check him for a pulse.

01:42:33 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 6:

Scott, she riles him up. She's probably like, why aren't you more upset with this? That's exactly what happened.

01:42:38 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 4:

He went, do you really want to go to Florida? And I went, I want to go on vacation.

01:42:42 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. Hold on. Hillary wants to say something. And Hilary, what's going on, Hilary?

01:42:46 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time, long time. Hey, Hilary's on the phone. All right, so why did the sisters ask Megan and her brother if they would like to join?

01:42:57 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 1:

My question exactly.

01:42:59 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, it's their family vacation they take every year. It feels weird to include us. You know what I mean?

01:43:06 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, now it's a new family tradition. A blended family? Yeah.

01:43:13 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 2:

you know what i think that's so okay i don't want to scare them off

01:43:16 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 4:

and also i know you're saying this to be nice but like i love these girls i really do i'm not taking vacation days and spending my money to go to florida like this is not a trip i want to go on i'm just jealous that i'm not getting a vacation you know what i mean scott maybe megan uh will

01:43:35 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 6:

surprise you with a trip to uh kalahari or something i don't know see the point it's your

01:43:40 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, oh, my God, Kalahari would be hysterical if my dad sent just my brother and I to the water park while they go to Florida.

01:43:49 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know, I would go, but I'm out of town that week. I'm going to go and make that.

01:43:55 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 6:

Have a great time. Have you stopped by the Tommy Bahama store to go get yourself some new stuff?

01:44:03 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 2:

I tell you what, Amazon is an amazing thing. It's great. It shows up at your door. I love that. It is so cool.

01:44:09 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 6:

I love it. That's great. You deserve it, buddy. Enjoy yourself, Scott. Thanks, everybody. We'll talk to you later. Hold on. Deshaun, what did you want to say?

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Megan, she sounds a little bratty, like she feels entitled. You're just learning this?

01:44:25 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. How long have you been listening to the show? This is a daily occurrence around here.

01:44:30 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it's not cute. Who said I was cute? You know what? It isn't cute. That's what throws up a red flag with men.

01:44:41 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's not my first red flag, and it won't be my last. And if you think that's my authentic relationship with my dad, I think you're missing the point.

01:44:50 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 6:

Listen, wait, wait. I hear it all in your voice.

01:44:54 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 4:

Do you think I was serious that entire segment?

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 2:

It seems like your father, his kids, the next kids or the step kids,

01:45:04 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 3:

they're getting a little bit more attention from him.

01:45:07 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Megan, how would you feel, though,

01:45:11 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 3:

how would you feel if your dad's girlfriend's kids started calling your dad dad?

01:45:18 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 4:

I think it would be nice for somebody to show him some respect, finally.

01:45:22 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 3:

Megan calls her dad Scott Mick. She doesn't even call him dad. Is that unbelievable? Oh, well, that's not good at all.

01:45:28 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm a bad kid with a terrible relationship with her father. Wait till you hear about my mom, dude. You're going to be blown away. You really want to hate me? Ask me what I call her.

01:45:40 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 3:

Deshawn, are you a single man? Would you like to take Megan out on a date tonight?

01:45:44 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, never.

01:45:45 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Never. Oh, I'm disappointed. All right, well, thank you for the call. Oh, no.

01:45:50 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, me too.

01:45:51 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate you, Deshawn.

01:45:52 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 4:

Guys, what was that? Like, sometimes it blows my mind that I can't even just have a little bit of fun around here with my dad.

01:46:00 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 3:

I thought that was... It was great. You and your dad have a great relationship.

01:46:03 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 4:

Apparently not. I'm a bitch, guys.

01:46:06 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 3:

Wait till Megan finds out that we're all in her dad's will. It's going to be unbelievable.

01:46:11 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 4:

Megan, she brings so much joy to the room every day. Well, more so when she leaves the room. But hey, it all counts.

01:46:18 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Deshaun. All right.

01:46:22 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 4:

Why is it even a lot on the air?

01:46:24 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning phone number 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548 this is always one of those topics whenever we talk about body parts that I'm always amazed to hear that there are people that like have something that I'm like oh really like when we ever talk hey who's got a third nipple or you know whatever

01:46:48 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 1:

well we talked about that recently with the lady that I saw with the sixth toe

01:46:50 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 3:

yeah the sixth toe as well have you seen LeBron's toe No. Somebody was showing me a picture the other day of LeBron's got the weirdest feet I've ever seen. Really? Did you see the picture of that? Wait, what's wrong with his feet? Google LeBron's feet.

01:47:02 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm not, because then... I mean, you know.

01:47:03 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 3:

LeBron's got like a wild foot, whereas his...

01:47:07 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 2:

He also has 41,000 points.

01:47:09 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Like toes point all different directions? And it was the toe that got him there. Worse than Kev's feet, true or false.

01:47:14 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 3:

It's wild. Here, look at this. Hold on. Wait, hold on a second.

01:47:17 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 1:

I told you LeBron James' feet look like this because of...

01:47:19 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 3:

Look at that. Look at that toe. Wait. How does he walk? He's got a toe that's like.

01:47:25 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't walk, Shannon. He flies. He flies.

01:47:27 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 4:

Bro, his foot is on a Reddit thread called Oddly Terrifying. It is.

01:47:33 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 3:

But this is not about feet. This is about.

01:47:37 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 1:

Teeth. I was texting one of my girlfriends the other day, and in the middle of the conversation, she said, she basically put the conversation on hold and said, let me get back to you. I'm at the dentist right now. She was having her last baby tooth pulled. She's 41 years old and still had a baby tooth in her mouth.

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 3:

And it's not like a wisdom tooth or anything like that?

01:47:59 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 1:

No, it was an actual baby tooth.

01:48:02 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

01:48:02 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 1:

I did not think that they let you go that long with a baby tooth still. Unless she just doesn't go to the dentist regularly. But I think she does.

01:48:08 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 3:

Where was it? Like, was it in the back somewhere?

01:48:10 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 1:

I didn't ask. I don't know if it was a molar or on the side. So how does it work?

01:48:16 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 2:

So you have all your baby teeth.

01:48:18 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 1:

And you lose all your baby teeth.

01:48:19 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

And your adult teeth pushed them out.

01:48:21 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:48:21 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 2:

Right? So she obviously didn't have an adult tooth to come push out her baby tooth. I don't know.

01:48:28 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

I have no idea.

01:48:29 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 3:

Why are they now taking it out? What was the problem with it?

01:48:33 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I didn't have a conversation with her after this about her dental history. But I just was like, you still have a baby too? I had no idea.

01:48:42 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm always amazed and I want to see stuff like this. Like I want to know exactly how it happens.

01:48:48 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you want me to ask her to send me a picture if she happened to catch it? Did she put it under the pillow? I should have asked her that question.

01:48:54 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 3:

I wonder, hold on a second. Let me see if Dr. Reynolds is around. Dr. Reynolds, Reynolds Orthodontics. I wonder how long you can actually have baby teeth around for. Because that would be interesting. If you're a 60-year-old person, the shoe's obviously 40. That's still, you know, a good age to be. He's probably in.

01:49:21 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Can you still chew the same?

01:49:23 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, you've got all your other teeth.

01:49:25 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 2:

They're not as strong as the adult teeth.

01:49:27 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 1:

But I've, and she's like a little itty-bitty person, but I never noticed talking to her if she smiled that one tooth was abnormally smaller than all the others.

01:49:38 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Do they give it to her back after they pull it and she put it under her pillow?

01:49:41 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 1:

That's what I said. I should ask her if she gave it to the tooth fairy.

01:49:44 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 2:

They put it in one of those little tooth capsules.

01:49:45 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 1:

What do you get as an adult? What does the tooth fairy leave you? Wine.

01:49:49 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 3:

Louis Vuitton. Kayla, what's going on, Kayla?

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, yeah, there's no need to panic. It happens. It's just like sometimes there's no adult tooth that forms to replace it.

01:50:00 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 2:

So it doesn't shut. But you kind of want to keep it to keep that space because sometimes the teeth will shift and then you've got other problems that you've got to pay for.

01:50:07 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So, like, you've seen people that are grown-ass adults with baby teeth, huh?

01:50:13 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I'm a dental hygienist, so I see thousands of teeth a week. I've had patients in their 80s with baby teeth. Some of them are strong. Some of them you've got to kind of be careful with because they're not as strong. What is it? But, yeah, it's actually been really cool to see how long you can retain those for.

01:50:28 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 4:

what's other stuff i wonder other things that you you know people have uh that's an oddity that would kind of blow us away because that is interesting how many things you can have like

01:50:37 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 2:

extra teeth you can have like not enough teeth oh really you can come in in the wrong places sometimes collect teeth that like never actually erupt like i've had patients with like adult canines still up in the gums in their 70s that just never came in adult canines wow yeah has

01:50:54 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 4:

Has there ever been a child that has been born with adult teeth? Like we're a kid, actually?

01:51:00 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 2:

Probably not, but there have been, like, babies that are born with teeth already.

01:51:04 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine you have a baby? Is there any babies that are born with teeth? Yeah.

01:51:10 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 2:

That's a breastfeeding. Let me tell you. I can tell you. Yeah, it's kind of awful.

01:51:14 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. What dental office do you work out of?

01:51:20 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm actually a travel hygienist, so I work at a different office every day. Today I'm at Refresh and Warren. Hey there. So that's cool, but yeah.

01:51:28 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:51:30 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome. You guys have a good day. You too.

01:51:32 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

Take care of yourself. What's happening, Trisha? Hi. Hi. What's happening?

01:51:40 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I just wanted to add to the conversation. I'm 45, and I just had my last baby juice cold a few years ago, And it was just really to, I could put my braces on straight down my teeth. But there was nothing wrong with the baby tooth. I had a grown-up tooth right next to it. It just kind of, it just readjusted my alignment of my teeth.

01:52:05 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 3:

I did not realize this was so common. I know. It's interesting.

01:52:09 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 1:

I hadn't heard or none of anybody either, so.

01:52:14 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 4:

It's so common that a celebrity has that too, and they're on the phone with us right now. Steve Gabara from Zod 4.

01:52:21 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Steve Gabara.

01:52:23 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 4:

Steve Gabara.

01:52:23 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Steve? Good morning. I'm calling. I have a confession. I still have a baby tooth. You do? What? What are you saving it for, Steve?

01:52:33 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 5:

Well, you know, whatever the magical moment hits. But I'll tell you what. Like, when I was a kid, my dentist was like, hey, this baby tooth has to go. So we set an appointment with an orthodontist or whatever to get it pulled out. My dad takes me. I go to the sit in the chair and the guy explains how we're going to take this tooth out and put these braces on and pull down your adult tooth. I'm like, okay. I said, this sounds like I need to go to the bathroom first. It sounds like a long process. I walked into the waiting room. I'm like, dad, we got to go. He's like, why? I said, because they want to put braces on and that's expensive. He's like, yep, we're out of here. And there the baby tooth still rests in my mouth.

01:53:09 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

That's a Chaldean dad for you. He's like, son, we're not putting these things on you. I love it. Well, your teeth are great, Steve. You got a great smile there.

01:53:17 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I appreciate that. Thanks for noticing. But, you know, for a long time, I was weird about it. Like, I wouldn't smile with my teeth because I thought everybody would notice. But then I realized nobody cares about my teeth. I never noticed.

01:53:27 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Where's it at in your mouth? I don't know, thanks.

01:53:30 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 5:

It is on the top. It's, I think, what they call an eye tooth. It's on the right-hand side. Now they're going to go look at all my pictures. They're like, oh, yeah, there it is.

01:53:37 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 4:

I've heard that before. Somebody just texted in. We can't get them on the phone, but they said that they have two belly buttons.

01:53:43 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 3:

Would that not be wild?

01:53:45 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 4:

That would be interesting.

01:53:46 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 3:

It's the opposite of Kyle XY. What if one was an innie, the other was an outie? It would be wild, wouldn't it? That would piss me off.

01:53:54 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 1:

Or if you pushed in the outie, would it make me an innie? If it popped in the other one?

01:53:58 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 4:

If you could have an extra body part, what is it that you'd want? I'd love a third eye, like right in the back of my head.

01:54:03 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I see. That's exactly what I would say.

01:54:04 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 4:

Right? Wouldn't you love that? Or, I mean, maybe another mouth, you know?

01:54:09 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to think of, like, what wouldn't freak people out? You wouldn't say that.

01:54:13 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 4:

Two penis. I don't know. Why is Steve Gabara calling back again? Why are you calling him back again, Steve?

01:54:18 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 5:

He wants two penises. I'm just going to ask you. But it's good to talk to you all. Good morning. Good morning.

01:54:25 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I just hung up on you to go to the next call. Did you? Okay. Yeah, bye. Bye. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't say goodbye to you. Goodbye, Steve. We appreciate it. Bye. All right, we'll talk to you later. All right.

01:54:36 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

01:55:12 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 4:

So this Tracy Morgan story had to be wheelchaired at a Madison Square Garden during the Knicks game last night. He's a huge, huge Knicks fan. He was vomiting on the floor while sitting courtside. There's photographic and video evidence of this happening, unfortunately, for him. But during the third quarter of the game against the Miami Heat, a 10-minute pause was taken in order to clean the barf off the floor. And the cause of the delay was Tracy Morgan, who had puked all over the hardwood. So, of course, you know, there's fan video of this because people see something happening around him and they all get out their phones. But was wheelchaired out of the arena, trying to stop a nosebleed as well with a towel. So I don't know. Like, I hope he's okay. St. Patrick's Day got him. Either that or he got this norovirus that's going around and threw up so hard it made his nose bleed.

01:56:03 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 2:

He's in bad shape. Really? Yeah. I think New York Post posted just a little bit ago because of his kidney issues or whatever. Did he have a stroke? Well, he had a stroke, yeah, not that long ago. And he also, I think, has been dealing with some kind of diet. Which organ of yours do you need to do dialysis and things like that? Is it your kidney? Yeah, I think he's got some issues.

01:56:29 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 4:

Universal Music Group issued its first official court response to Drake, who is suing a label for defamation as it relates to distributing and promoting Kendrick's Not Like Us. So attorneys for UMG filed this motion to dismiss his lawsuit yesterday morning, and they called, now remember, UMG is Drake's label as well. They called Drake's allegations meritless and stressed that public embarrassment is the real reason he's choosing to sue here not anything having to do with umg so umg's lawyers wrote plaintiff drake one of the most successful recording artists of all time lost a rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated instead of accepting the loss like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be he has soon his own record label in a misguided attempt to solve his wounds. UMG went on to argue that Drake issued his own statements toward Kendrick during the battle, including accusations that he's physically abusive to his partner, said some things about his business partner being the dad to certain kids. However, his insults and allegations didn't engage the public like Kendrick's did. And so basically they're saying, this is

01:57:44 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 2:

him taking his ball and going home and that's why this lawsuit is here my favorite new tiktok and reels trend that i keep seeing it coming up in my algorithms are all these uh like uh girls that are getting married dancing to this song with their bridesmaids uh-huh and they got this this guy pops on and goes white people ruining everything for us Have you seen it? It is so great.

The big winners at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in L.A. last night. Cannot get enough of Benson Boone and Beautiful Things was named Song of the Year.

01:58:26 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 1:

This is a crazy job. It is not what I was expecting to do with my life. And every day is a new adventure. But I think something that is really, really, really, really important for me in my career is having someone that believes in me. And from the very beginning of doing radio interviews and promo and coming to radio stations, Tom Pullman has believed in me and iHeart has believed in me and they have played my music and streamed my songs.

01:58:52 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 2:

What about Tony Travato?

01:58:55 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

Truly, it is incredible to feel believed in.

01:59:00 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 2:

Tom gets a lot of praise. He should because he helps a lot of artists out. But Tony Travato. That's right. That guy is always the first to play any music.

01:59:09 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Fun fact.

01:59:11 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 4:

A little dig there. Also taking home trophies, Gracie Abrams, SZA Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter, Glorilla, Mariah Carey, one of three powerhouse women who won honorary awards last night. Taylor Swift's record-breaking era's tour named Tour of the Century Gaga, getting the 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award.

01:59:31 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, iHeartRadio, for honoring the truth I've fought for in my music And to every artist who's ever been told they're different, complicated, or too much, please, never change.

01:59:44 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

I loved seeing our fellow iHeart jocks, like some of the music jocks, get airtime last night. Like, I think it's really cool. Like, they featured, you know, jocks from, like, Memphis, Dallas, some of the New York ones. That is very cool. Like, some of the, like, mid-

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 4:

day host and some of the afternoon hosts and stuff so it wasn't just all let's put ryan celebrity

02:00:04 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 2:

presenters yeah yeah by the way billy eilish's hit me hard and soft named album of the year it was nominated for a grammy in that same category lost to beyonce's cowboy carter so a big big honor for her last night and she was performing as well and oh this is just a performance what's your performer.

02:00:30 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 4:

Gracie Abrams was so excited to have her present her with the award last night. Although she kind of, it was weird because she's like, I grew up to you, Billy. Like, oh, wait a second. Aren't you guys like the same age? Are you really grew up to her?

02:00:44 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but Billy's been famous since she was 15.

02:00:46 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 4:

I know, but when you say that, it makes you feel like you're like ancient, you know?

02:00:50 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a quick update on that Pontiac mom who's currently in jail for leaving her kids in that filthy home by themselves for years and years. She is now being accused of calling their caregiver repeatedly despite being told not to do that. So Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has asked to have Kelly Bryant, that's mom's name, Kelly Bryant's communication privileges revoked because of this. I guess she had called the caregiver 10 times over a four-day period to talk to the kids in an attempt to discuss her criminal case which is a big no-no interesting that she left them alone for years but all of a sudden yeah wants to get into contact with them now she yeah and this is important because this order is in place like they never want to shut off communication between a parent and a child unless the child in this case children are the victims so this was put in place to protect them so if the judge does revoke her communication privileges she will no longer have access to phones or tablets in jail. She's going to be unable to video call or call anybody from jail. So she's done. She's done. mojo in the morning uh phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh this is always one of those topics whenever we talk about body parts uh that i'm always amazed to hear that there are people that like have something that i'm like oh really you still like when people we ever talk hey who's got a third nipple or you know whatever well we talked about that recently with the lady that i

02:02:37 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

out with the sixth toe.

02:02:38 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the sixth toe is wild. Have you seen LeBron's toe? No. Somebody was showing me a picture the other day of LeBron's got the weirdest feet I've ever seen. Really? Did you see the picture of that? Wait, what's wrong with his feet? Google LeBron's feet.

02:02:49 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm not, because then...

02:02:50 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 4:

LeBron's got like a wild foot, whereas his...

02:02:54 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 3:

He also has 41,000 points. Like toes point

02:02:57 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 2:

all different directions? And it was the toe that got him there. Worse than Kev's feet,

02:03:01 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

true or false? It's wild. Here, look at this. Hold on. Hold on a second.

02:03:04 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 1:

If someone do LeBron James' feet

02:03:05 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 2:

look like this because of...

02:03:07 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Look at that, look at that toe. Wait, how does he, how does he walk? He's got, he's got a toe that's like.

02:03:12 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 3:

He doesn't walk, Shannon, he flies. He flies.

02:03:15 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 4:

Bro, his foot is on a Reddit thread called Oddly Terrifying. It is. But this is not about feet, this is about.

02:03:24 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 2:

Teeth. I was texting one of my girlfriends the other day, and in the middle of the conversation, she said, she basically put the conversation on hold and said, let me get back to you. I'm at the dentist right now. she was having her last baby tooth pulled she's 41 years old and still had a baby tooth in her

02:03:42 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 4:

mouth and it's not a um like a wisdom tooth or anything like that no it was an actual baby

02:03:48 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 2:

tooth oh man i did not think that they let you go that long with a baby tooth still unless she just doesn't go to the dentist regularly but i think she does where was it like is it in the back somewhere i didn't ask i don't know if it was a molar or on the side or So how does it work?

02:04:03 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

So you have all your baby teeth.

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

And you lose all your baby teeth.

02:04:06 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 3:

And then your adult teeth push them out.

02:04:08 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:04:09 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 3:

Right? So she obviously didn't have an adult tooth to come push out her baby tooth. I'm assuming.

02:04:16 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea. Why are they now taking it out?

02:04:19 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 4:

What was the problem with it?

02:04:20 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I didn't have a conversation with her after this about her dental history. But I just was like, you still have a baby tooth? I had no idea.

02:04:29 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 4:

I'm always amazed and I want to see stuff like this. Like, I want to know exactly what, how it happens.

02:04:35 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 2:

Do you want me to ask her to send me a picture if she happened to catch it? Did she put it under the pillow? I should have asked her that question.

02:04:42 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I wonder, hold on a second, let me see if Dr. Reynolds is around. Dr. Reynolds, Reynolds Orthodontics. I wonder how long you can actually have, like, baby teeth around for. Because that would be...

02:04:59 - 02:05:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:05:00 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 5:

interesting like if you're like a 60 year old person that she was obviously 40 that's still you know a good good age to be he's probably can you still chew the same yeah we got all your

02:05:12 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 4:

other teeth they're not as strong as the adult but i've and she's like a little itty bitty person but i never noticed talking to her if she smiled that one tooth was abnormally

02:05:22 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 5:

do you think smaller than all the others do they give it to her back after they pull it and she She put it under her pillow.

02:05:28 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 4:

That's what I said. I should ask her if she gave it to the Tooth Fairy. They put it in one of those little tooth capsules. What do you get as an adult? What does the Tooth Fairy leave you? Wine.

02:05:36 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 5:

Louis Vuitton. Kayla, what's going on, Kayla?

02:05:41 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, yeah, there's no need to panic. It happens. It's just like sometimes there's no adult tooth that forms to replace it, so it doesn't shut. But you kind of want to keep it to keep that space because sometimes the teeth will shift and then you've got other problems that you've got to pay for.

02:05:54 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Okay. So, like, you've seen people that are grown-ass adults with baby teeth, huh?

02:06:00 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm a dental hygienist, so I see thousands of teeth a week. I've had patients in their 80s with baby teeth. Some of them are strong. Some of them you've got to kind of be careful with because they're not as strong. What is it? But, yeah, it's actually been really cool to see how long you can retain those for.

02:06:16 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 5:

What's other stuff? I wonder other things that, you know, people have, that's an oddity that would kind of blow us away because that is interesting. How many teeth?

02:06:24 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, tons of things. you can have like extra teeth you can have like not enough teeth oh really you can come in in the wrong places sometimes collect teeth that like never actually erupt like i've had patients with like adult canines still up in the gums in their 70s that just never came in adult canines wow

02:06:40 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 5:

yeah has there ever been a child that has been born with adult teeth like we're a kid actually

02:06:47 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 2:

probably not but there have been like babies that are born with teeth already you imagine

02:06:52 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 5:

Imagine you have a baby. Is there any babies that are born with teeth? Yeah.

02:06:58 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 4:

I have to breastfeed it. Let me tell you. I can tell you because that was me. Yeah, it's kind of awful.

02:07:02 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. What dental office do you work out of?

02:07:07 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 2:

I'm actually a travel hygienist, so I work at a different office every day. Today I'm at Refresh and Warren. Hey there. So that's cool, but yeah.

02:07:15 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

02:07:17 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome. You guys have a good day. You too.

02:07:19 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 5:

Take care of yourself. What's happening, Trisha?

02:07:22 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 1:

hi hi what's happening hi um i am i just wanted to add to the conversation i'm 45 and i just had my last baby tooth pulled a few years ago and it was just really too so i could put my braces on straight down my teeth but there was nothing wrong with the baby tooth i had a grown-up tooth right next to it it just kind of just readjusted my alignment of my I did not realize this was so common.

02:07:54 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 5:

I know. It's interesting.

02:07:57 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

I had not heard or none of anybody either.

02:08:01 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 5:

It's so common that a celebrity has that too, and they're on the phone with us right now. Steve Gabara from Zod 4.

02:08:09 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Steve Gabara. Steve Gabara. What's up, Steve? Good morning. I'm calling. I have a confession. I still have a baby tooth. What? What are you saving it for, Steve? uh well you know whatever the magical moment hits but i'll tell you what like when i was a kid my dentist was like hey this baby tooth has to go so we set an appointment with an orthodontist or whatever to get it pulled out my dad takes me i go to the sit in the chair and the guy explains how we're going to take this tooth out and put these braces on and pull down your adult tooth i'm like okay i said this sounds like i need to go to the bathroom first it sounds like a long process i walked into the waiting room i'm like dad we got to go he's like why i said because i want to put braces on and that's expensive he's like yep we're out of here and there the there

02:08:54 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 5:

the baby tooth still rests there's in my mouth that's a chaldean dad for you he's like son we're not putting these things on you i love it well your teeth are great steve you got a great

02:09:03 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 3:

smile there hey i appreciate that thanks for uh noticing but you know for a long time i had i was weird about like i wouldn't smile with my teeth because i thought everybody would notice but then i realized nobody cares about my teeth where's it adding your mouth okay it is uh it's on the top, it's I think what they call an iTunes. It's on the right-hand side. Now they're going to go look at all my pictures and they're going to be like, oh yeah, there it is.

02:09:25 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 5:

I've heard that before. Somebody just texted in, we can't get them on the phone, but they said that they have two belly buttons.

02:09:30 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Would that not be wild?

02:09:32 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 5:

I have questions. It's the opposite of Kyle XY. What if one was an innie and the other was an outie? It would be wild, wouldn't it? That would piss me off.

02:09:41 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 4:

Or if you pushed in the outie, would it make me an innie?

02:09:44 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 5:

If you could have an extra body part? What is it that you'd want? I'd love a third eye like right in the back of my head. Oh, I see. That's exactly what I would say. Right? Wouldn't you love that? Or, I mean, maybe another mouth. You know? I'm trying to

02:09:57 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

think of like what wouldn't freak people out.

02:10:00 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Steve would say that.

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, two penises. I don't know. Why Steve Gabara? Why did you ask him? Wait, why is Steve Gabara calling back again? Why are you calling him back again, Steve?

02:10:06 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 3:

He wants two penises.

02:10:08 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to ask him, but it's good to talk to you all. Good morning. Good morning.

02:10:12 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I just hung up on you to go to the next call. Did you? Okay. Yeah, bye. Bye. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't say goodbye to you. Goodbye, Steve. We appreciate it. Bye. All right, we'll talk to you later. All right. Add the Mojo in the Morning Show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show. All right, we're going to give you a shot at tickets to see the weekend. You are so dirty. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Win tickets to see the weekend. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30. Oh, my gosh. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's dirty on the 30th?

02:11:00 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 3:

But was wheelchaired out of the arena trying to stop a nosebleed as well with a towel. So, I don't know. Like, I hope he's okay. St. Patrick's Day got him. Either that or he got this norovirus that's going around and threw up so hard at me to know his nosebleed.

02:11:50 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 2:

He's in bad shape. Really? Yeah, I think New York Post posted just a little bit ago because of his kidney issues or whatever. Did he have a stroke? Well, he had a stroke, yeah, not that long ago. And he also, I think, has been dealing with some kind of diet. Which organ of yours do you need to do dialysis and things like that? Your kidneys? Is it your kidney? Yeah, I think he's got some issues.

02:12:17 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 3:

Universal Music Group issued its first official court response to Drake. who is suing a label for defamation as it relates to distributing and promoting Kendrick's Not Like Us. So attorneys for UMG filed this motion to dismiss his lawsuit yesterday morning, and they called, now remember, UMG is Drake's label as well. They called Drake's allegations meritless and stressed that public embarrassment is the real reason he's choosing to sue here, not anything having to do with UMG. So UMG's lawyers wrote, plaintiff Drake, one of the most successful recording artists of all time, lost a rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated. Instead of accepting the loss, like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be, he has soon his own record label in a misguided attempt to solve his wounds. UMG went on to argue that Drake issued his own statements toward Kendrick during the battle, including accusations that he's physically abusive to his partner, said some things about his business partner being the dad to certain kids however his insults and allegations didn't engage the public like Hendrix did and so basically they're saying this is him taking his ball and going home and that's why this lawsuit is here

02:13:36 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 2:

And this is important because this order is in place. Like, they never want to shut off communication between a parent and a child unless the child, in this case children, are the victims. All right. So the show is happening for you is May the 25th at Ford Field. Tickets are still available for that show. Go to Ticketmaster.com. Congratulations to you. Thank you. All right, thank you. You sound very good today. Everything good? Everybody happy? Yeah. All right, we'll hang on the phone and we'll get some information from you, Alicia. Okay, thank you so much. This is, by the way, if you ever wanted to know what it was like when I was a single guy talking to girls, this is what it was like. This was my, they basically, and then the next statement out of their mouth was, I'm calling the police. So hold on one second. We'll get you set up, okay? Okay. All right, love you. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Kevin says that he would like to get his sister on for this next topic, right? Yes, please. Lydia, can you please call Kevin?

02:20:00 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 2:

Kevin's sisters, people, and see if she's available, if she's ready to go on the radio, or if she'll go on the radio. I don't think, have we had her on the radio before?

02:20:10 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 3:

We have, in my almost two-year career, on The Great Mojo in the Morning Show, we have talked to Grandmama, we've talked to my mom. Obviously, we've talked to Joe, and Sherelle has been here. I think you may have heard a jern cool here and there. We've talked to my dad, but... Matter of fact, your dad, one time we couldn't get him off the phone. I love when your dad calls. D to E in the morning. That was funny. But we have not talked to, probably, outside of my mom and my grandfather, the person and Josiah, the person, the people that have, I guess, for lack of a better term, reared me or assisted me in becoming the person that I am today. My younger sister, Melinda, I don't talk enough about her. We have her to blame. She is my, yeah, she is my best friend. We're about three years apart. That's awesome. She's my younger sister.

02:20:56 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 2:

That's my dog.

02:20:57 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 3:

We've never had her on. I don't think we've ever talked to Lynn. That's crazy.

02:21:01 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

And this morning, we're going to have her on so that Kevin can talk about how I had to work harder for it.

02:21:09 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, this was a real interesting conversation that my sister and I have had, but we had it more recent. And my sister truly feels that there was a difference in how my mother championed me and pushed me towards my dreams than she did my sister. Interesting. And my sister feels as though that she's had a different upbringing and a harder path to reaching her dreams than I've had.

02:21:33 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so this is like almost a little family therapy going on here right now. Does your mom know that we're doing this?

02:21:38 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:21:38 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:21:40 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 3:

So hold up.

02:21:41 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 2:

Please welcome Kevin's sister, Melinda, to the air of Mojo in the Morning. What's going on, Melinda? Hi. First time caller. That's good. That's good. and now it's it's you and kevin that's it just the two of you there's no other okay yeah so so you guys throughout your entire lives have you know and and i come from uh having six total so it's wild like there are some siblings i don't even talk to you know because i just haven't uh talked to them you guys talk to each other you gotta talk to them you i know i do you're right um uh one's wanted by the law so we're trying to figure that out is it you but i i find Found it really cute when Kev's first started working here that his daily routine was he would talk to you in the morning before the show would start, and then he still does that. I think that's wonderful.

02:22:33 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 1:

When he's woke enough to answer before he gets to work. Yeah.

02:22:38 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 2:

Now, so, Melinda, you feel like your mom gave Kevin a little bit more than what she gave you?

02:22:48 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I'm going to just give a little disclaimer. My mom supports both of us. She doesn't champion one more than the other, but this is a valid feeling that I've had because I don't want her to feel like I don't like the way she raised me. Okay, so Kevin is obviously the firstborn. He's older. He's been in quote-unquote showbiz since he was like two years old. On top of that, he's a boy. And, you know, he's charismatic. People like him. He has, like, a lot of cool experiences and such. So I just feel like with him doing film and oratorical competitions, he was always kind of, like, pushed to the front. Like, let's see what Kevin wants to do. Although I do have experience, like, in commercials and things like that.

02:23:41 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, you've got a great singing voice, too.

02:23:43 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, thank you. I really appreciate that. I mean, I just feel like it was, I don't know if it was because I was kind of, like, a plus-size kid that it was kind of like, let's just move forward with his career. But I feel like I could have gotten tagged in a lot more, you know? What? So, I mean, like, honestly, I mean.

02:24:02 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

This is interesting because, you know, the first time I met you, Melinda, was at the baby reveal, the whatever. Gender reveal. Gender reveal. And it was interesting because I kind of witnessed a little bit of this. You are very quiet, reserved. and Chelsea and I both noticed that your mom just sits there and she does talk a lot about Kev and I know that that was his event that day but it is interesting and I think that most kids who grow up in a house of a bunch more brothers and sisters you feel that way, you might feel like your brother or sister got it better than you did

02:24:38 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I mean honestly Mojo, I've been just kind of on a life path and my personality was a bit reserved just because of what I was dealing with. I'm pretty charismatic. But, yeah, I mean, she does. She harps on Kevin. Like, gee, like, I mean, when I'm doing my thing, she harps on me, but Kevin is her boy.

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Hold on a second. Hold on. This damn thing, I keep... You're there still, right, Melinda? Yeah.

02:25:06 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good. Okay, stay there. Do you feel like that has affected our relationship?

02:25:10 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 4:

No. No, no, no, no, no. I'm not, like, harboring animosity, like, you get everything. No, but I will say it's, like, we have two different experiences of our mom. Sure. Like, you have a... I mean, I guess you'll never understand, but But you have a different relationship with her. Her personality, how she talks to you, how she keeps it funky with you, how she disciplines you is completely different than I. She's even admitted to me that she's harder on me because I'm a girl.

02:25:44 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 5:

How do you feel when you hear that, Kev? Because I'm looking at your face.

02:25:47 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's shocking. And, you know, we've had conversations before. But, I mean, she's right. I only have the perspective of my experience. and I don't of course I want to be empathetic but I mean I am a guy I don't know do you raise

02:26:01 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 1:

your children differently that's a different so here's my question as a mom and I'm also the oldest of three girls right so do you think that this is because of Kevin's personality versus yours Melinda or do you think that this is just simply and I say this because I notice I already do it where i will like dote on a lot of things related to lucy because she is my oldest so a lot of things are like first time or i want to make sure you know i i feel like i give her more of myself than sometimes i do for smith because i'm like second kid he'll figure it out he's going to be fine and i feel like that's a natural thing for parents do you think this is that or do you

02:26:39 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 4:

think that this is different i mean i feel like with your first child that's like your that's your experience with the parenthood so i guess maybe naturally you'll have a different inclination with them because it's like that's your partner in crime you know but i often feel like i mean especially kind of in the black community women mothers with their sons you know they're very close like a lot of a lot of times people may say like uh are you dating your mother you know like because they're so involved so i just feel like you put them on the pedestal a bit so okay so

02:27:14 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 5:

Well, Melinda, do you ever feel like if you would have had the energy put into you, because I know you have looked towards the entertainment business, do you ever feel like if you would have been the first one born and the energy was put towards you that you would be in a different place?

02:27:32 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, honestly, my mom invested in me. I've done basically the same type of work as Kevin. I mean, like, I've done commercials, theater background, dance, such and such and such. I do feel like I could have been a Disney Channel star, though. I had an agent, but unfortunately, I told one director on a wall-side windows commercial that it's breath stink, and they let me go. Oh, no.

02:28:01 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 1:

I know those guys. I can get you back in. Melinda, we'll make those dreams come true.

02:28:07 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 4:

Please. But no, I mean, like, no, I think the grand design played a big part in everything. I mean, just the fact that Kevin's on air with you guys, I've been doing the work. So, I mean, everything is just a part of the journey. It hasn't put me in a different position. I'm working on music. I'm doing everything. I have a nonprofit called Play Your Piano Detroit that kind of focuses on people with talent who don't really have an outlet. So we just use six degrees of separation and masterclasses and elevated experiences to push them to the floor. Okay, that's amazing. It works.

02:28:42 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

So for those just tuning in right now, this is Kevin's sister, Melinda. And we're talking about how Kevin might have had a little bit more doting on him than Melinda might have had. And she feels like her being raised was a little different than Kevin. And I think that a lot of people feel, I'm sure my kids feel that way. But Monica, are you there, Monica?

02:29:08 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:29:09 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 5:

I know you feel the same way that Melinda does about how you were raised, huh?

02:29:18 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And so she commented on what I was going to say. I really think that it's just in the black community. I don't think it's about the order or how she looks. I think that black moms, they don't own their sons. they push their sons to be great like their relationship with their sons are like amazing and then they're harder on the girls I don't know what it is but I see it all throughout my family that's been my experience and I'm the oldest so it's like um I don't know I just feel like moms push their sons to be great no matter they do no wrong I don't get it it's like they don't do anything wrong and then we have all these dreams and aspirations and they support us but

02:30:00 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 1:

it's not the same yeah support um so i can relate monica and melinda do you guys uh ever get into uh conversations with like kev you know and melinda are talking about this do you ever get into conversations with the siblings and do the siblings ever go that's crap you know like do they

02:30:16 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 3:

ever try to discount it yeah he just did well yeah yeah well with my with my sibling i we go back and forth about you know he's the favorite and you know we joke about it but yeah yeah it's

02:30:31 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 1:

it is interesting uh that you guys both say in the black community this is the case because i would wonder if dads are different than the moms are like are they like my sister has a better relationship with my dad than i do really yeah well you're pretty you're you're tough on your dad i mean and i think for good reason yeah yeah because you're you hold a lot of resentment towards the way you grew up.

02:30:58 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 2:

Resentment is just, I think I hold a lot of accountability. I'm sure there is some, I'm not going to hold myself accountable. There is a shade of resentment. But I don't think that if we're looking at the scales, that that one is all the way down, holding the most weight.

02:31:11 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 1:

No, I think that's, and actually I like that you changed that word because I think that it's good for a kid to also hold their parent accountable. Melissa, what's going on?

02:31:20 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo, what's going on?

02:31:22 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 1:

Say hi to Melinda.

02:31:23 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 6:

hi melinda hi melissa you sound amazing by the way but i do want to i do want to say that i'm the youngest of three and my parents treated me like they learned from their mistakes i didn't get a first car i wasn't able to go out late like i got the crap end of the stick here interesting

02:31:48 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 1:

That's normally the opposite. Yeah, usually you forget.

02:31:52 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 6:

They're like, oh, you were out last night? We didn't even know we were gone. Yeah. And so I just feel like I lost out on a lot of high school experiences because of my sister and brother, what they did.

02:32:04 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. Yeah, it is true that sometimes the oldest, you go, oh, crap, what did I do? Now I'm going to clamp down a little bit and try to at least make one of them good.

02:32:13 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and I am, so.

02:32:15 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 1:

um what thank you for the call appreciate it what's up sam how you doing hi i just wanted

02:32:22 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 5:

to give kevin and melinda a little piece of advice that my mom always told me there's just two of us so it's just me and my little sister um my sister was always the bigger girl she always got picked on her looks her weight the whole shebang i was the golden child i never did anything wrong even though i have my closet full of skeletons that my mom probably doesn't know about um but what my mom always told me is that because we're our own unique individual people um she loves us both the same but she loves us both differently yeah like i got a first car i got they bought me my first car and my sister didn't really want to drive she didn't care to drive as long as i took her anywhere she didn't need a car and still to this day she kind of feels that same way so it's it's not necessarily about loving you unequally it's more so she loves you in different ways yeah you're a boy you're a girl in that sense and and you're into different things yeah but that different kind of love can create an easier pathway and a more challenging

02:33:24 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 1:

pathway yeah i think it's interesting when kids will will say you know something to the effect of i know that they're their favorite or i know them and i think that there's obviously always going to be favoritism that might be shown but i also think that most parents just try to do the best they can and i know from your guys's mom i think your mom you know she had she did not have it easy uh i think you know uh her you know raising you guys without dad there for a while was very very tough and she's also very protective of you guys but i also see that she's she's probably your fiercest protectors both of you guys without a doubt yeah and i think melinda's way better

02:34:09 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 4:

looking than kevin i mean i mean i am going to be in my story in a few minutes if you guys want to follow me shout out your name yeah how do we follow you melinda lebeau melinda lebeau is the same same listeners so happy to be on here with you this morning how do you spell that m-a m-a-l-i-n-d-a L-E-B as in boy E-A-U Melinda Lebeau

02:34:37 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Hey what happens if Misfit Ron tries to flirt with Melinda

02:34:42 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 2:

And Lynn can handle her own That's a fact I'm screaming

02:34:48 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 1:

Melinda you now have direct line to us So anytime that your brother goes astray We need somebody to put him in place Because your mom gets shy sometimes And doesn't want to go on the air with us

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

That's funny And most of us have.

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 5:

say like i've been listening to you for years i mean like i'm familiar with hot girl check-in

02:35:06 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah back in the day we tick tick-tacking those guys yeah yeah i i love i love listening to you oh we love you thank you so i love you welcome i love you and i love and and i love your family i do love your family so you guys are you guys are great people i think it's it's one of the things that when i see the two of you guys together talking to each other i have my sisters are very close to me it reminds me of my relationship with my sisters and i think that the thing with melinda is melinda the things that you do to influence kevin is how he's going to treat his his wife you know uh one day so you'll you hold them accountable to be good to

02:35:46 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 2:

women so i love i love my land our relationship is probably the best that it's ever been that's good and uh we've had some struggles but i love my land all right we'll talk to you guys later

02:35:57 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 3:

See ya. Bye. I'm not like I'm saying I'm saying talk to you later. Just call it a day.

02:36:02 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:36:17 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning coming up this hour. We've got the War of the Roses. And then before the end of the show I got to tell you guys a story. I don't know how I was able to do this, but I actually flirted to get something for free. Basically never done this before in my life. Usually only women can flirt and get something, but believe it or not, us guys have flirt capabilities too.

02:36:41 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 1:

Did you do that weird wink thing at your mouth or face?

02:36:43 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

I did. I have a good, I have a wink. No, I did not wink. I did not. It was my dimples. All right, real quick. It is time now for Am I the A-hole on the Mojo in the Morning show notice i did not say a s s h o l e i actually said a and skipped the s s and then did the hole okay so that means when you call when you call us up to tell us whether or not you think that one of our mojo in the morning listeners one of your fellow people is an a-hole or not an a-hole you cannot use that word okay let's find out what the am i the a-hole is for this week so i have one

02:37:23 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 5:

friend who every time she comes over she ends up eating a lot of my food and like I'm on a tight budget groceries are really expensive and I said something to her about it before like if she wants to eat can she please either bring her own or eat before she comes over and she kind of makes some really petty nasty comments about it and I mean she's my friend I care about her I want to be nice to her but i just can't afford to feed her all the time so um you know i'm just not quite sure

02:37:54 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

what to do about it all right her name by the way is mandy is mandy an a-hole because she's telling her friend that she has to eat before she comes over to the house mandy i need to know more information are they just coming over just to hang or are you like bringing them over to actually

02:38:07 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 5:

have like food like are are you eating in front of them no so it's not even during regular meal times like i'll just like when i have friends over if she's coming over by herself or if it's a few of us coming over to hang out like i'm thinking it's just a hangout and i'm fine with you know giving them chips or something to drink or whatever but she'll go into my fridge like she'll open it up and have like a full meal and it's i'm not inviting them over for dinner and it it's just started happening pretty much every time she comes over well i don't think you're an

02:38:43 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 3:

a-hole i was actually at first going to say you sound like an a-hole because at least you could do as you know if you're going to feed yourself feed them but i don't necessarily think that that you have to feed people just to come over like when they come over to your house although i do know some people like i have a an italian in-laws they feed you whether you like it or not yeah you know um what do you think is mandy an a-hole is uh is she an a-hole for saying that she doesn't

02:39:08 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 5:

want to feed her friend how much is she eating so she'll make herself like a full sandwich she'll pull a drink out she'll probably i mean it's it's a full meal and i you know if she was coming over and she was saying i'm really hungry i didn't get to eat today i'd be fine with it it's just a thing that's happening enough that it's impacting my budget i wonder if if her budget like if she's

02:39:32 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 1:

struggling a little bit too and that's why she comes to your house and she's like oh mandy's

02:39:35 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 3:

always got food i don't know yeah i you know i find it interesting we live in a day and age where everybody wants charcuterie boards maybe you throw out the charcuterie maybe you just put

02:39:49 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 1:

something small you know if you notice that to be fair she did say she'll put out chips and stuff

02:39:54 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

yeah so so you started her her eating and she continues it by going

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 8:

Going into your refrigerator and cupboards.

02:40:01 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 4:

I just don't, I don't know that you can invite somebody over and say, bring your own food. Yeah. Like to me, that doesn't feel very hostess. Hospitality. Yeah. Hospitable. Hospitable. I was looking for that word. Thank you. But if she's like raiding your entire fridge every time she comes over, if that were me with my friends, like I would hope that they would get the hint when I'd be like, okay, you're literally like, I have to go to the grocery store after every time you come over. It's a lot.

02:40:29 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 7:

You know when she's coming over, right?

02:40:32 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:40:33 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 7:

So why don't you just, like, say, hey, can you swing by and pick us up some fill-in-the-blank here? Can you pick us up some food?

02:40:41 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 2:

Croissants.

02:40:43 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I did try that once, and she made an excuse. She's like, oh, well, you know, I'm really busy. I'm not going to have time. Babe, I don't think your friend can afford food.

02:40:51 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, maybe she's down under luck. We used to have a guy that would come to our house all the time, And Chelsea has, you know, the magic mystery closet, which is basically a closet full of all kinds of snacks, but cereal. And the guy would, this is no joke, we had cereal in a bunch of these, like, plastic containers. He would pull out the Cocoa Puffs, and he would, like, literally pour himself two bowls of Cocoa Puffs. And then at the end, he'd drink the entire thing of chocolate milk that was left over by the Cocoa Puffs. And Chelsea would go, like, he's eating all our Cocoa Puffs. But it's amazing how people will just randomly think. Because I think you feed them once, and then they think that it's fair game. Kenny, what's up, Kenny? Am I the a-hole? Is Mandy an a-hole for not wanting to feed her friend?

02:41:37 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 3:

So, no, she's not the a-hole, but the friend is a big-back a-hole. A big-back a-hole. Listen, if you're coming over to my house and you're eating constantly and you're not contributing or paying a bill or anything of that sort, no, you better eat before you come over.

02:41:54 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 8:

You know what I always hate? I always hate when I go to friends' houses, they order pizza. I always feel like I need to chip in. I think it's funny how many friends will take the money from you. Have you ever had that? Where you'll go to a friend's house and you'll be like, hey, I'm going to order some pizzas. And you'll be like, oh, let me put some money in. And they'll go, yeah, okay. What's wrong with that? Because if they come to my house, I'm feeding them myself.

02:42:15 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 4:

I hear you. And that's what I'm saying. And that's why I hate, you sound so sweet, Mandy. I hate calling you an a-hole. But that's why I kind of think you're an a-hole. because you're inviting people over, and I feel like you should be prepared. You're not taking care of them. Yeah.

02:42:29 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 2:

But her friend, this doesn't sound like a nice Friday night. It sounds like this person is coming over two or three times a week.

02:42:36 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 7:

So why are we always going over to your house? Why are you never going to hers? Because it's not like she's swinging by unannounced. You're saying that you know she's coming.

02:42:44 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my place is kind of centrally located where all my friends are. So we all meet there. Like, if we're going to go out for the night and we're going to go hang out somewhere else, like, we'll meet at my house first and then we'll head out there. But that's why I'm saying, like, it's not for it's not that I'm inviting them over for dinner. Like, we're usually on our way to somewhere else, not dinner necessarily, but, you know, going out to do something.

02:43:07 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 8:

Sarah, what's up? Am I the a-hole? Is Mandy an a-hole?

02:43:11 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 5:

I do not think she's the a-hole. When it comes to, like, my friend groups, no matter whose house it's at, we never just go in the cabinets and make ourselves a whole meal. Like, if we're all hungry, we'll be like, hey, let's pitch in and door dash something or pitch in and get pizza.

02:43:25 - 02:43:26 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:43:26 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Dude, my friends, if they know I'm having, like, an event or something in my house, they literally come in with carry-out containers.

02:43:34 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 8:

To bring stuff home?

02:43:35 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 4:

Dude, I go to your house and I go, where are those crime markets next? Lindsay, you know I'm talking about you.

02:43:41 - 02:43:42 | Unknown:

Who wants me?

02:43:42 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 7:

is this just like how you're raised though because i was raised like you don't have people over

02:43:47 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 8:

without providing food yes same home what's up katie how you doing hey i'm good what's up guys hey it's doing good what do you think you think actually mandy is an a-hole

02:43:58 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 6:

so i think a-hole's a little harsh i wouldn't say she's necessarily a total a-hole i just think what i was gonna say is i think maybe it would have the way i would approach it is like have a sit down conversation with her about like hey like is there something going on you know are you having financial trouble like you know not necessarily even offering to help her with it but just like to be there for her and like at least to know um and like get it out in the open and then you can like have a different perspective even if it doesn't change anything from your financial perspective right because you can then also open it up and say like hey it's just really part on my budget too and that's megan's shaking her head no no no you don't ask friends if they're

02:44:42 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 7:

struggling you wait for them to tell you no i don't i mean i guess i i just don't see how

02:44:49 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 6:

asking a question is that is like if you're close enough with a friend i don't know especially if it's causing a rift like it's i feel like it's better to

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 1:

communicate than like yeah that's fair i don't like conflict that would make me feel so bad

02:45:05 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 4:

it would make you feel bad but but if you found out that they were struggling i mean wouldn't

02:45:11 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 1:

you want to help a friend out i would just assume they were before asking like i i don't know i just feel like i could embarrass my friend they could i don't know uh john what's up your thoughts on

02:45:24 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 4:

And Mandy, is she an a-hole? Am I the a-hole here?

02:45:28 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 5:

No, I think the friend is the a-hole. By the way, first time, long time. Hey, buddy.

02:45:35 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 4:

So the friend eating her food is not good.

02:45:38 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 5:

I mean, no, because, you know, she's on a budget and, you know, looking at the economy right now, everybody's on a tight budget and you as the friend going over to your friend's house eating up all her food, like, what does she have to eat?

02:45:52 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 3:

Forgive me if I've missed this somewhere in the conversation. Did you explain to her, Mandy, that you are on a budget?

02:45:59 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 8:

I didn't really want to say that. That felt awkward to me to kind of bring up the money part of it.

02:46:04 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I feel like that's important here because at this point, she just thinks, I go to Mandy's house and I eat. She's got all the food.

02:46:12 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, no, that's a good point.

02:46:14 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Brittany, what's up, Brittany?

02:46:17 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I just wanted to say if the friend can't afford to feed herself, and how can she afford to go out with the friend group all the time?

02:46:24 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, is she okay?

02:46:26 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 1:

Couldn't you say the same thing about her inviting people over to go out and then she can't afford to feed her friends?

02:46:32 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 7:

I would say going through somebody's cupboards and the host, like, giving out snacks. Like, she's being hospitable, giving out the snacks, I feel like. That's fair.

02:46:42 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 4:

Does she go out to the bars, Mandy, and just start drinking a bunch of expensive drinks all the time?

02:46:48 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and she, like, we'll generally take, turns paying for a round and I have noticed, like I don't want to be paid but I have noticed that sometimes she she'll skip her turn so we do end up buying her alcohol as well sometimes. How hot is she? How many

02:47:02 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 1:

guys are buying her drinks all night?

02:47:06 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 4:

Listen, if you have time to go out and have money to go out then you have money to go feed yourself yourself or you're just staying in, you're not going out but with that said for the small price of $5 You can help feed Mandy's friend You're terrible She's got flies flying around her face right now I'm not going to do that And she needs to be fed As she's hanging out in her Royal Oak apartment I apologize Mandy for saying where you live Please help out this 27 year old girl that drives What kind of car does she drive Mandy? he drives a vw oh she's got a volkswagen okay yeah let's feed her thank you mandy i appreciate you going on am i the a-hole you've you've won

02:48:02 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 6:

you're not an a-hole uh thank you i'm i that really does mean something to me because i felt

02:48:08 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 4:

like maybe i was yeah no no you're not by the way i went to the uh the kroger's by my house and they had more kroger they had more eggs than i've ever seen eggs before

02:48:19 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

eggs are back they had a plethora of options how much did they cost

02:48:24 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

no they were cheaper believe it or not I couldn't believe it is bird flu over eggs are back well I'd even eat the bird flu eggs

02:48:33 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 8:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending and the Dirty on the 30. What's up, Shannon?

02:49:19 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, Swifties are thinking that Reputation, Taylor's version, is happening real soon. And this all goes back to something that happened during last night's iHeartRadio Music Awards that went down in L.A. Did she drop another Easter egg? She did drop another Easter egg. And it was all about what she was wearing, specifically this dainty silver chain necklace that was a snake. And every Swiftie who was watching this thing

02:49:46 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 7:

absolutely noticed this tour was absolutely the most challenging thing i've ever done in my life um it's a three and a half hour show um more shows than i've ever done on a tour and it really was the most gratifying

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 2:

thing i've ever done i think about that tour constantly i'm so proud of it what did she do

02:50:04 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 5:

what did she uh she won the award for no i know but you said she dropped the easter egg what did

02:50:10 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 3:

she do she was wearing a snake necklace a snake wow which is reputation but that snake necklace

02:50:16 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 2:

it does represent reputation but when she did their her first cut of reputation she was wearing that necklace in a larger version when she first dropped that i love when our resident swifty gives us so this small version is a big hint that we're going to get rep tv which is the most anticipated

02:50:32 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 3:

wow remake of taylor swift's albums doesn't she ever just want to go and rest like does she not does she never want to like she's how much more money do you need like at what point do you gotta

02:50:42 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 4:

pay for those flights from la to santa monica man those aren't those aren't cheap l.a to santa

02:50:47 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 3:

why did she fly that short of a distance in a uh lydia what's the story she does do that yeah

02:50:52 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 5:

really yeah we talked about that before um lots of awards given out last night benson boone's beautiful things name song of the year gracie abrams for just love was named breakthrough

02:51:01 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 3:

artist of the year hold on can we uh let me see if her performance yeah uh while you find that

02:51:06 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 5:

i'll go i'll keep going but sizza r&b artist of the year for the third year in a row important to know jelly roll taking home country artist glorilla winning hip-hop artist of the year two years after she tied with lotto for new hip-hop artist of the year by the way and sabrina carpenter taking home pop artist of the year you you give me the ability to be the artist that i've always

02:51:27 - 02:51:41 | Speaker 3:

wanted to be so thank you so so much this is uh the that looked at sabrina carpenter i found the this is gracie abrams performing that's so true oh my gosh she is so good live

02:51:41 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 4:

Every time I see her, I want to cut my hair. Like, really cut my hair.

02:51:51 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

How old is Gracie Abrams?

02:51:53 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 4:

To the Googles.

02:51:54 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to Google faster.

02:51:55 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to Google faster, Megan. She's 25. 25.

02:51:59 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 3:

Man.

02:52:00 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 4:

She was born in 1999. Real quick, on the scissor going three straight in the R&B category, allow me to preface what I'm about to say by saying I think she is an incredibly gifted and talented artist. But can we give Chris Brown some love? Radio, Tom Polman, because everybody was thanking him, and he's a great guy. I had a chance to meet him at the last Jingle Ball. Can we forgive my man of his sins for beating Rihanna? And can we allow this man to perform live? He's one of the greatest artists of our generation.

02:52:31 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 3:

I think he's asked. I think we've asked him for iHeart Festivals and stuff like that. I think that, you know, and I think that he's up for these things.

02:52:39 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 4:

But I just think that, you know, we have to start recognizing there's no reason why she should. I'm not. All right. I was going to say there's no reason why she should win three straight. It's just hard to believe that R&B is hard right now. She's incredible. But, you know, difficult it is to win three straight years in a row for anything.

02:52:53 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 3:

She did the Super Bowl this year of all years. She should be winning that.

02:52:58 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 4:

Sure. Three years in a row. I'm just saying it's very tough when you have incredibly gifted R&B artists. That's all I'm saying. Yes, we should have gotten it. Chris Brown.

02:53:05 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 3:

Can I play two things real quick? Yeah, of course. Because we played it earlier this morning. Can I play the Tori Kelly version of Mariah Carey, which was good, too? She did a tribute to Mariah Carey. They had her performing a tribute.

02:53:20 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 1:

Remember this song?

02:53:22 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 3:

Always Be My Baby. Always Be My Baby.

02:53:26 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 1:

It sounds like her.

02:53:35 - 02:53:43 | Speaker 3:

And is it Mooney Long? Is that who that is?

02:53:43 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 4:

Money Long.

02:53:44 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 3:

Money Long? What did you say?

02:53:46 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 4:

Mariah Carey was not a fan of her performance.

02:53:51 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 3:

I think she was jealous of these girls because they were... No, no. Mariah, look.

02:53:55 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 4:

Mariah, look at the guy next to her.

02:53:57 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 5:

And roll her eyes. That would be insanely nerve-wracking to perform a Mariah song in front of Mariah.

02:54:04 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 3:

I thought that she seemed like she was okay with it.

02:54:07 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 1:

And to my fans, my Lammily, you've been with me through every step of this journey. Your love and loyalty are the greatest gift, and I'm endlessly thankful for each one of you. And on this St. Patrick's Day, I want to honor my mother, Patricia Carey, for giving me the gift of music. Okay, thank you so much. Oh, my goodness.

02:54:39 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 4:

What's the Lambily thing? That's just what she calls her fans. Is it from something, though? A lambs.

02:54:44 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 3:

She's got the little monsters. There's the little monsters.

02:54:47 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 5:

The little lambs. The Beliebers. The Swifties.

02:54:49 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 3:

The Beliebers. What are the Swifties? Swifties, okay. The B.I. What do we call our Mojo in the Morning listeners?

02:54:56 - 02:54:57 | Speaker 4:

The Misfits, bruh.

02:54:57 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 3:

No, those are just the goofy ones. We got to call.

02:55:00 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 2:

everybody everybody's got to be a part yeah yeah all right texting uh i'm gonna skip some stories no i have so many stories i got to we're gonna be here all dang day are you sure yeah absolutely okay so yesterday a judge blocked the release of images of gene hackman and his wife betsy's dead bodies i don't know why people want to see this anyway uh this also prevents the release of their autopsy reports by the way this is really interesting what's going on with their wills i I don't know if you heard about this, but so Gene and his wife signed their wills like 20 years ago. Okay, 2005. It is very important that they had, which they did, figure out who died first because of who's getting money from these wills. Betsy had something called a pour over will. And in that case with a married couple, it all hinges on who dies first. In this case, Betsy died like a week before Gene Hackman did. So she left everything that she had to the Gene Hackman Trust. Well, he outlived her. So he theoretically inherited everything that Betsy had into his trust. And then as it goes, when he dies, which he did, his trust goes to whomever his trust beneficiaries are. So if I'm understanding this correctly, whomever she had in her will, does it not matter?

02:56:19 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 3:

It don't matter. They're not getting any money. I think it goes to his kids who he wrote out of the world.

02:56:24 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 2:

Ray Z.

02:56:25 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 3:

And to go back to this, I want to see their mummified bodies. I don't. I want to see bodies mummified. Why do you not want to see that? And here's the other reason.

02:56:33 - 02:56:43 | Speaker 2:

We don't need to. They were so insanely private in real life. And so people are saying the last thing that they would want is their photographs of their dead bodies being shared for entertainment value.

02:56:43 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 1:

And do the kids get anything if they were dead for over a week before anybody noticed?

02:56:47 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Well, listen. I say that they should have to have the mummified bodies in their homes for a year, and then they can get the money. That's what you should put in the will.

02:56:59 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 1:

If I'm mummified by the time you find me, you don't get anything.

02:57:03 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm putting the song I want played at my funeral in my will. Are you kidding me? It is going to be very specific. I'm going to do a video. Defying gravity, by the way. Okay, those astronauts are coming home today. Finally. They're re-entering Earth. Florida splashdown set for $5.57. There's your update on that. Beyonce fans.

02:57:19 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 3:

Wait, do they get to go to Disney World like the winner of the Super Bowl? Hey, you just came from space after nine months. Where do you want to go? Let's go to space.

02:57:27 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 2:

Would you imagine them placing Mickey ears on their heads as they get off? Oh, my God. Beyonce has added a Vegas show to her Cowboy Carter tour. She's going to close out the record-breaking 31-day tour with a performance at Allegiant Stadium on July 25th. If you are a hardcore member of the Beehive, tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, I believe. Talked about this earlier today. Forever 21, start saying your goodbyes. They have filed for bankruptcy protection for the second time.

02:57:58 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's awful.

02:57:58 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 2:

They can't compete with other fast fashion retailers like Amazon, Timu, Sheen. Where am I going to take all my Sheen returns now?

02:58:07 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 1:

I mean, honestly, have you seen the clothes that Forever 21 has been putting out? No. Are we shocked that it headed in this direction?

02:58:12 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 3:

With that said, Abercrombie came back from the dead. This is true.

02:58:17 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

Abercrombie put out quality clothes and had a good market. Forever 21 is sheen that was marketing towards 10-year-olds, and it really didn't work out. They have a full line right now of Hello Kitty and Bratz. Who are you? Dude, it's ugly as hell. Who are you competing with?

02:58:36 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, the majority of vaping products in Michigan could be seized as contraband. And if Governor Gretchen Whitmer's effort to tax vaping products similar to cigarettes takes effect, I was going to call out a member of the show, but I'm not going to call him or her out because this would affect them. The plan would extend Michigan's 32 percent wholesale tax on tobacco products to e-cigarettes and other what they call nicotine delivery devices like vapes. It's fancy for vapes. So, yeah, and most of the flavored vapes would fall under that category of contraband.

02:59:09 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 3:

I heard that vaping has gotten a resurgence lately. Like, for a while there, remember, it kind of slowed down. Everybody started doing those zins and things. But now they're going back to it. By the way, listeners are texting with names. Some people are saying that we should call it the Mohoes and Mofos. I love it! And then 734 says, Mojo, don't forget, the Mojo Mafia. Remember, we had the Mojo Mafia shirts.

02:59:37 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Hey, for all of today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the totally free iHeartRadio app.

02:59:43 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 3:

03:00:00 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're all there.

03:00:03 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 4:

03:00:15 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 1:

Claire thinks that her boyfriend and the father of her baby is cheating on her. And what are some of the things that you have felt uneasy about?

03:00:25 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 3:

So, I was cleaning out our basement, and I found a wedding ring in a box. An engagement ring or a wedding band? An engagement ring.

03:00:40 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 1:

And has there been conversations of you guys getting engaged?

03:00:46 - 03:00:47 | Speaker 3:

No, none of that.

03:00:48 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Has he been married before?

03:00:51 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 3:

Mm-mm, no.

03:00:52 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 1:

Could he have been married before and he's not telling you the truth?

03:00:57 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 3:

I mean, maybe, but I feel like he's usually pretty straightforward with me, so.

03:01:04 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 1:

Except for the fact that you think he's cheating right now. Well, yeah.

03:01:08 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 2:

What is making your mind go to him cheating versus, oh my gosh, he might actually be trying to surprise me and propose to me?

03:01:16 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 3:

I think because I've communicated my thoughts about marriage and I'm pretty hesitant about it. And also, I said that if we were to get engaged, I have a very specific style and aesthetic and he knows that and this spring was not that at all. So it didn't feel like it was for me.

03:01:47 - 03:01:51 | Speaker 1:

Is there any other things that have made you feel like he's got somebody else in his life?

03:01:53 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 3:

Since becoming pregnant, my hormones have changed. And so we haven't been as sexually active. I'm thinking that maybe that could be part of it. How far along are you? About five months.

03:02:08 - 03:02:13 | Speaker 2:

Is it possible that he's just an idiot boy that picked out the wrong ring?

03:02:15 - 03:02:18 | Speaker 3:

Maybe, but my intuition is telling me no.

03:02:19 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 1:

And he normally would be wanting to have sex? This is not unusual? Or is it very unusual?

03:02:29 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 3:

No, he would be. I think that it feels like there's just more disinterest from him overall. Like, it doesn't feel like he's struggling as much with the fact that we haven't been having sex, which is another reason why I think maybe he's getting it from somewhere else.

03:02:52 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 1:

All right. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Mute your phone. So hit the mute button on your phone. And don't jump on at all until we say something to you. Okay?

Your girlfriend, Claire, has been listening into this and just heard every word that you just said.

03:07:34 - 03:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Are you? What?

03:07:40 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 1:

03:08:59 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 2:

I guess he didn't

03:09:04 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Dylan how were you going to keep all this together How were you going to How were you going to be able to keep Having the double Life thing going on And maybe we think we found out the reason Why he's been acting weird since you said that you were pregnant, Claire, because he's trying to figure out how to tell his fiance about that.

03:09:36 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand why he's still on the phone if he's not talking.

03:09:42 - 03:10:02 | Speaker 1:

Dylan, do you have guts enough just to say something to Claire? Can you explain this to her? Maybe we call up Rachel and we'll explain it to her right now.

03:10:05 - 03:10:08 | Speaker 3:

You just ruined one relationship. Don't ruin the other one.

03:10:10 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Don't. Don't ruin the other relationship. So you don't, you don't, you think we're ruining the relationship and you're not the one ruining the relationship? Claire, we are going to try to call that number and let's call this woman. I want you to hang on the phone, okay?

03:10:34 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses.

03:10:40 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:10:47 - 03:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

03:10:50 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 1:

Live.

03:11:00 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning show what's going on jay hi good morning i think we should call rachel

03:11:21 - 03:11:40 | Speaker 1:

we're trying we're trying we're trying okay what are you thinking so what are you thinking there is the story. Do you think that this is a fiancé that was going to get that ring? Or do you think she already has a ring and he was going to give another ring out?

03:11:41 - 03:11:50 | Speaker 3:

No, I think he was going to give her the ring and propose possibly this weekend, who knows, and then just leave clear in the dark. That sounds horrible. That sounds horrible for her.

03:11:51 - 03:11:54 | Speaker 1:

The idea that he's already calling her his fiancé and that

03:11:54 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 6:

She might not even have a ring on her finger yet.

03:11:56 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 1:

And here's a mother of his baby, you know.

03:11:59 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 6:

And he loves her so much.

03:12:00 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. Working on the call to this girl that he sent it to, this Rachel girl. What's going on, Katie? Hi. Where are the roses?

03:12:10 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Hi, good morning, you guys. Good morning.

03:12:12 - 03:12:13 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

03:12:14 - 03:12:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm just wondering what his plan was for his child. Correct. What was he going to tell Rachel?

03:12:23 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 5:

That's what I'm trying to wrap my brain around because this is a true double life. This isn't just two different women you've got going on. This is a woman and now in a couple of months your child and then a fiancé and a wedding and, you know, a new house or apartment or whatever. Like, two totally separate lives. Like, how are you not going to have shared custody? Like, that kid has to come around.

03:12:49 - 03:12:57 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. They'll find the father, you know. She's, I don't know. I just feel so bad for this girl. I can't believe it.

03:12:57 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 1:

I want to know how many people have ever had somebody that was leading double lives like this and how crazy of a double life did they lead. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Diamond, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. War of the Roses recap. What's going on?

03:13:14 - 03:13:52 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. First time, long time. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Hey there. Okay. So is it just me? I think a lot of women, including this lady who is a victim, are getting to the point where they don't ask questions because they're so scared they're going to lose their man. They're settling for things. I've never heard a five-month pregnant woman say, oh, I don't want to get married. Like, did you not want to get married? Or is that a conversation he had and now you're just falling for it? So I know he's trash, but I'm just like, at what point are we going to start holding these men accountable? Like asking questions like, oh, you're going on a work trip. I'm sure this has been his first one. Like it just doesn't make sense.

03:13:52 - 03:14:16 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's and that's, you know, interesting is did she really did, you know, and I'm going to ask her that question when we come back with her in a second, because we're having issues trying to get her on the or get Rachel, this other girl on the phone. Did she really not want to get married? Is there a woman that would be carrying a person's baby that would not want to get married? I don't know.

03:14:16 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 2:

I think one of the things that Diamond just touched on that makes me think is I think a lot of times in a relationship, we settle for truth and we should be seeking transparency.

03:14:25 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:14:25 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 2:

And if I ask you what you're doing and I say, I'm going on a work trip, that sounds truthful. But the transparency is, hey, this is what I'm going for. This is what I'm doing.

03:14:34 - 03:14:35 | Speaker 5:

This is who else is going.

03:14:36 - 03:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Transparency is key.

03:14:37 - 03:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Claire, we're having issues trying to get this other woman on the phone, this person that he sent the flowers to. So we're running into kind of a struggle with that.

03:14:52 - 03:14:52 | Speaker 3:

Right.

03:14:53 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 1:

Is he, God, I feel like we're not getting her any answers other than with the answer we just got.

03:14:58 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 5:

The big answer is.

03:15:00 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 2:

He's finding out that he has another fiance. For sure, but how was he able to do that? Does he go out of town a lot for work? Because this is a true double life.

03:15:09 - 03:15:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You've got a baby on the way. You're getting married. Yeah, he traveled a lot, but I didn't really think too much of it.

03:15:19 - 03:15:41 | Speaker 2:

The phone number is a number that's within the area here, so that's the thing. That's interesting. So I don't know if they travel together for this or if she has any high clue. Hang on one second and let's see what else we can get out of this, okay?

03:15:43 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

03:15:45 - 03:15:48 | Speaker 2:

All right, where are the roses? Chloe, what's up, Chloe? How you doing?

03:15:49 - 03:15:50 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you guys this morning?

03:15:51 - 03:15:54 | Speaker 2:

We're doing okay. We're feeling bad here for Claire.

03:15:54 - 03:16:49 | Speaker 1:

what's going on. I know I feel really bad for Claire. Well I was in a similar situation during COVID. I was pregnant with my son about to give birth and I found out that my boyfriend at the time was living a double life and got someone else pregnant and was bouncing back and forth from houses saying that he was just working late. And when I went into labor he was sending pictures to another woman that he was messing around with as well of my son when he was born. So, yeah. Go ahead, Megan. Was he staying the night with you? Yes, he would stay the night with me three days out of the week and then go to her house and say he was staying with a buddy because he worked out in Detroit. That it would just be easier that way to save gas. And how'd you finally bust him? Facebook, because the girl wanted to be petty and post them on Facebook. And, of course...

03:16:49 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 2:

FBI agent we know so that's how I found out um what what was the text with your baby's picture

03:16:57 - 03:17:03 | Speaker 1:

what did he say that it was it was a picture of him holding him like fresh out of the womb

03:17:03 - 03:17:10 | Speaker 2:

with a caption saying my son's here so she knew about you and knew that you were pregnant with

03:17:10 - 03:17:20 | Speaker 1:

her yeah with baby but you didn't know about her yeah yeah I had no idea about her yeah but he promised her this lavish life and that once i give birth he was gonna break up with me oh yeah

03:17:20 - 03:17:25 | Speaker 2:

oh yeah but it's okay karma has her so oh really you think you think she listens to the show

03:17:25 - 03:17:42 | Speaker 1:

i often wonder that i hope so i hope so i hope um that karma's eating you up and that i see it every single day wow so you actually still see her oh yeah yeah we live in the same um township so

03:17:42 - 03:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

03:17:43 - 03:17:46 | Speaker 1:

She'll know exactly who I am if she hears me. She knows my voice.

03:17:47 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. All right, War of the Roses. Don't miss this.

03:17:51 - 03:17:52 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning.

03:17:53 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 2:

When we come back here next, kind of wrap things up for the day. Got a few more things to get to. Let me get some more commercials in, and then we will be right back with more. Next.

03:18:03 - 03:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning.

03:18:04 - 03:18:31 | Speaker 2:

More Mojo next. Did you ever flirt to get anything? All the time. It doesn't work. I've had to pay every ticket I've gotten. Wait, so you're saying. I have never gotten out of a ticket. Well, how about. Same. Like crying, flirting, nothing. How about not a ticket? Do you think you've ever gotten something, you know, like extra pour it on a drink at a bar or.

03:18:31 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

03:18:33 - 03:19:23 | Speaker 2:

But you flirted before for the purpose of doing it. Yeah. Like it wasn't like it was unintentional. It was just, I'm purposely going to try to do this thing. Don't think I ever paid for a drink at the Twisted Taco. Is that a rhetorical question? Come on now. Well, I'm asking them this question because I want to know, like, if they'll be honest enough to say, like, hey, I've adjusted my blouse to make myself, you know, show off my boobies more so I can go get myself something for free. That's more me, Lesha. Well, never mind. Well, I have to tell you something. and I did not adjust my shirt to show off my boobies, although if you saw them, you would enjoy them. But I did flirt to get help at the Apple store, and it happened the other night. It actually happened after our promo on Saturday.

03:19:23 - 03:19:23 | Speaker 1:

Did it work?

03:19:24 - 03:19:54 | Speaker 2:

And went to the Apple store, went up there. I had an issue with my phone, so they had to send me a replacement phone because I had a phone problem. Got the replacement phone, had a couple of questions, and it needed some service stuff, and I walk in. And you know how when you walk in right away, there's like eight million guys in blue shirts and they come walking up to you with like an iPad in hand and they walk up and they go, can I help you with something? And then they make you stand at a stupid table looking like you're honestly stalking the person that's standing there with you.

03:19:54 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Like it looks weird because they say, oh, I'm going to send, you know, Maggie over to help you. And you're looking around.

03:20:00 - 03:20:03 | Speaker 3:

going okay well which one is she you're standing by yourself or they actually

03:20:03 - 03:20:57 | Speaker 2:

what they did was they said here stand right stand right over here and I'm like standing there and there's another guy standing there we're both like hey so what are you doing here what's going on here you're kind of just hanging out well somebody comes out a guy comes out to help this guy and then a girl comes out to help me and she comes over and she starts talking to me and she says right away she goes well you're gonna have to make an appointment for that our next available appointments because it was late our next available appointments until tomorrow at 10 a.m., you know, go on your app and do something. And I'm like, I'm just, man, I'm just, oh, this is so bad. I wanted to drive all the way back here. I got to drive to the mall. I got to go do this thing and all that. And I'm just sitting there talking. I'm kind of, like, asking her how her day's been going and talking about, you know, how life is. And I'm just kind of having this conversation. And I realize I think she kind of is liking me. Like, I think it's kind of, believe it or not, I think I can flirt to get something.

03:20:58 - 03:20:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you can.

03:20:59 - 03:21:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the thing. Are there any guys that have ever done this? Call us up because I want to know if you actually have been able to pull this off. Because I start talking to her a little bit. Next thing I know, tomorrow morning doesn't need to come because we're having a night together.

03:21:15 - 03:21:20 | Speaker 3:

Really? That is a good thing to flirt with. A phone?

03:21:20 - 03:21:22 | Speaker 2:

We're spending the night together.

03:21:22 - 03:21:24 | Speaker 3:

An appointment at the Apple store. For sure. Yeah.

03:21:25 - 03:22:01 | Speaker 2:

She's looking at me and she's like, and she actually makes a comment about my dimples. Like she said something about, she goes, you have great dimples. And I said to her, I go, well, thank you. Hey, can you tell me why it is that I can't get phone calls on this thing? I'm like, I was having issues getting phone calls. It was like, it was just weird. So we're sitting there talking for a little bit. Next thing I know, my genius becomes my lover. And we are now in a relationship together. And she actually helped me. She helped me the entire time. And I sat there and I thought to myself, you know what? It's not very often that guys get to do this. And I don't know, Kevin, I bet you flirt a lot.

03:22:01 - 03:22:21 | Speaker 1:

But have you ever gotten anything for flirting? Not that I can think off the top of my mind that was like, I don't know. I'm sure I've gotten free things, but that's neither here nor there. I think with you, you got to work those dimples. We went out to lunch the other day and the hostess was all over you. I think she liked it. She literally pointed out your dimples. Are you serious? Yeah. She literally commented on them.

03:22:21 - 03:22:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I've ever noticed your dimples. Let me see.

03:22:23 - 03:22:24 | Speaker 1:

Here.

03:22:24 - 03:22:27 | Speaker 2:

Give her the grin. Give her the grin. Right there.

03:22:27 - 03:22:28 | Speaker 3:

You're right.

03:22:29 - 03:22:46 | Speaker 2:

And I got one on each side. I don't have the one side. The funny thing is, first off, go back to the Apple store for a second. That place is a mess. It is a freak. First off, they have in the center section of the store. You ever go into an Apple store on a Saturday morning?

03:22:46 - 03:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

03:22:47 - 03:22:48 | Speaker 2:

It's Senior Citizenville.

03:22:49 - 03:22:52 | Speaker 1:

They're all getting education classes. Those are good, by the way.

03:22:52 - 03:23:14 | Speaker 2:

They're all trying to figure out exactly how to work. their phones and they're all just sitting there the entire time and I'm going you push the damn button to pay and so I like how hard is it for you to know how to answer your phone like they're sitting there doing it and then they take up all the time of these geniuses so I have to make an appointment and try to figure out how the hell to do stuff I will say though

03:23:14 - 03:23:26 | Speaker 3:

every appointment that I've made or had at an Apple store those guys and girls are so they're all so nice they're all so helpful like they're just all i don't know they're all

03:23:26 - 03:23:51 | Speaker 1:

good i have flirted floated i have flirted at a chipotle you did that's where the okay oh yeah for extra meat get some extra sofritas what did you do just smile you can use you can sense what somebody's into let me see i mean would i give you extra so it wasn't like a certain camera oh it was that it's more so in the way that you're talking the physiology you can always tell when somebody's flirting with you, right?

03:23:51 - 03:23:56 | Speaker 3:

This drives me nuts when I go there and I try to flirt and it doesn't work. And you're like, extra this, extra that.

03:23:56 - 03:24:10 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you do not have to yell down when they ask what we ordered. Yes, you do. I'm talking about they don't have to yell down and say, he got extra guac. Like, they don't need to know that at the cashier park. Yeah, be a friend. That was between me and you. Dude, can I tell you, I went yesterday.

03:24:10 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 3:

They were like, what'd you get? And I got some free tests. And the girl goes, and guac. And I was like, I forgot.

03:24:17 - 03:24:18 | Speaker 2:

Wow. She thought you were stealing.

03:24:19 - 03:24:23 | Speaker 3:

I forgot. I was like, it's a sign. I cannot hide it. You slid it behind the bowl.

03:24:24 - 03:24:50 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny? If I was going to come up with a competitor to Chipotle, my competitor would not be called Chipotle or any kind of Mexican thing. It would be all-inclusive. I would call it everything is included. Because I think that's the one problem with Chipotle. The fact that they charge. First off, what is guac really going to cost you? Just charge. And then thank you. I appreciate it. I should run. I would hit my applause, but I'll ruin my best.

03:24:50 - 03:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I got a box into that. The coffee I ordered yesterday morning was $7.55. Bruh. Which you paid for. Thank you. You're welcome. So, $7.

03:25:00 - 03:25:07 | Speaker 4:

$1.54. Because you have the same thing. You keep adding, adding, adding. Well, that, and it's... Okay, I could go on a rant. Never mind.

03:25:07 - 03:25:53 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's what I want. Do we have anybody that would call in and admit to us, 844-MOJO-LIVE is a telephone number. We're on. We're here. We're live. Hey, hold on. There I am. I want you to call up 844-MOJO-LIVE, and I want you to tell me what's the last thing you flirted to get. Like, what did you get? And I wonder if there are any... I only got a guy that texted in, a guy texted in that he flirted to get a raise from his male boss. Hell yeah. Okay. Would you do that? I mean, if you got it, flaunt it. Would you flirt with Nick Gnaw to get yourself a- How do you, what do you mean by flirt with him? A male boss. You got to flirt with him. You got to tell him how great he looks. Hey, look at that polo. Would you get yourself? That's your color.

03:25:54 - 03:25:59 | Speaker 4:

I would be so uncomfortable to flirt at me. How are the goats?

03:25:59 - 03:26:29 | Speaker 1:

today yeah he truly has goats by the way can you bring me some eggs um 41419 says i agree with you mojo it's a mess when you go to the apple store there's so many people there trying to do one thing and that's just get their phone to work um i there's something about that place it drives me crazy what's up melissa hi hey what's up mojo nothing much what's going on what did you flirt

03:26:29 - 03:26:35 | Speaker 3:

for um it's actually really bad and i'm embarrassed and i thought i was going to be voice disguised

03:26:35 - 03:26:46 | Speaker 1:

oh here let's do it now go ahead now you're voice disguised okay so the worst thing that i flirted

03:26:46 - 03:27:10 | Speaker 5:

was a boob lift. Wait, give me all of the details. Okay, so I'm a bartender, and this older man comes in, and I've known him for years, and he would call it the boob tip jar. And my grandma passed away, and he just wrote me a check.

03:27:11 - 03:27:14 | Speaker 1:

How much did he give you? Because a boob lift's got to be expensive.

03:27:15 - 03:27:17 | Speaker 5:

It was $10,500.

03:27:17 - 03:27:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

03:27:19 - 03:27:20 | Speaker 5:

Do you have his number?

03:27:20 - 03:27:22 | Speaker 4:

Is he still alive? Oh, my God.

03:27:23 - 03:27:24 | Speaker 5:

He's gone now.

03:27:24 - 03:27:25 | Speaker 4:

No!

03:27:25 - 03:27:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you killed him.

03:27:26 - 03:27:30 | Speaker 4:

Wait, were you in a relationship at the time? Yes.

03:27:30 - 03:27:37 | Speaker 1:

Did you have to do anything other than serve this man drinks and show off those boobs? Like, did he ask to see the bear boobs for the prize?

03:27:37 - 03:27:57 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen the bear boobs. He was a very polite man. Wow. And did your boyfriend or husband, whatever, girlfriend, did they take issue with the fact that he did this or no? No, because he didn't have to pay for it. $10,000, you can do whatever you want. No, I understand that, but I feel like some guys would be like, absolutely not.

03:27:59 - 03:28:02 | Speaker 1:

That's pretty amazing. That's a lot of money for him to put in that.

03:28:02 - 03:28:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

03:28:03 - 03:28:07 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you said tip with a P at the end of a jar, right? Not a T at the end of it?

03:28:08 - 03:28:08 | Speaker 4:

Right.

03:28:09 - 03:28:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

03:28:09 - 03:28:14 | Speaker 4:

Can I just put out, if anybody wants to pay for my plastic surgery, you can look at it. Just pay for it.

03:28:15 - 03:28:16 | Speaker 1:

You'll get somebody.

03:28:16 - 03:28:18 | Speaker 5:

I'll get one for you.

03:28:19 - 03:28:41 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Megan, that ain't far off. I've heard stories before where there are people that will date basically to get plastic surgery or get things. Somebody was telling me, I can't remember which, it was one of the people that works at one of the stores on the, was it the rich side of the mall? Is it the Northside or Southside?

03:28:41 - 03:28:42 | Speaker 4:

At Somerset. Northside.

03:28:42 - 03:28:59 | Speaker 1:

Or Southside. The people that were, one of the stores, I think it might have been Gucci or whatever, was telling me about the guy that brings in the girl, that they don't have any kind of sexual relationship, but he just brings her in, they flirt together, and then go off. They each are in relationships. And she gets, but how does she explain?

03:28:59 - 03:29:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:29:00 - 03:29:05 | Speaker 1:

How does she explain to people that she's got all this new stuff and she's coming home with all this new stuff?

03:29:05 - 03:29:06 | Speaker 4:

I have a lonely friend.

03:29:07 - 03:29:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:29:07 - 03:29:14 | Speaker 4:

Or unless she's telling her husband that they're, you know, it's from DHgate. It was $16 because he doesn't know the difference.

03:29:14 - 03:29:20 | Speaker 1:

Autumn, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about flirting to get things. I've got the flirt down at the Apple store. Where's yours?

03:29:21 - 03:29:45 | Speaker 2:

Ours is at the Taco Bell. So Taco Bell is best nowadays, you know. So my female cousin and I would go there pretty often for lunch as we worked together. And we started calling the guy in the window. He worked there every day. We called him Taco Daddy. and eventually he started giving us half off every time we'd come. Wow. Okay, that's great. So I would go from $40 to like $12. That's great.

03:29:45 - 03:29:45 | Speaker 4:

Which Taco Bell?

03:29:47 - 03:29:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, I used to live in Oklahoma, so I was back there. Oh, okay. I'm back in Michigan now.

03:29:51 - 03:29:58 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so would you ever have to do anything other than just flirt with him to get free taco stuff?

03:29:58 - 03:30:04 | Speaker 2:

No, he knew it was a... us every time we pull up to the window because he knew our order by heart so he knew it was us

03:30:04 - 03:31:20 | Speaker 6:
