It's showtime!

00:02:30 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 7:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is good to be here, especially with what I saw for a weather forecast. This is the time, by the way, where y'all get sick. Y'all get sick when temperatures are going to be like 70 degrees today. And then tomorrow will be like 40 something. The weather is changing. Things are different. By the way, you know, today is the last official day of winter. So there you go. Last official day of winter. Right. Make sure that you guys enjoy the last official day.

00:03:28 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 4:

Winner, winner.

00:03:30 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's winter. It's winter, not winter. This is winter.

00:03:34 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 4:

It is winter. It's winter. What's the jump going to be? It's winter. Almost 70.

00:03:39 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:03:39 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 7:

I'll take it. I will take it. Very nice.

00:03:43 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 6:

I was here in the summer when it was, we had such a bad winter.

00:03:47 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 7:

Well, you know what, though? The problem is with the way that things go and nothing stays consistent, you know that we'll have snow in probably May or something, right? Right, right. I've had Mother's Days in the past where I felt like I was still shoveling for some reason. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Whose birthday was it? Oh, I'm sorry, you were out at a restaurant, right?

00:04:07 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I was just picking up a particular order. We love a good to go because I'm not getting dressed to go sit down somewhere, but I still want the food. As I was waiting for my food, though, I heard this birthday song go off, And I'm always, every time I hear any server sort of sing that birthday song, I immediately go, where's the adorable child? Where is he? And turns out, not a child, but a grown-ass man being sang to. And the first thing I thought, and you told me if I'm a curmudgeon or not, was, we need to stop singing happy birthday to people over time. uh i famously worked at a restaurant that was like known for having and i almost said a curse word buttload let's just say that yeah different birthday songs i remember that you guys did not

00:04:52 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

have just one song we had six you had tons of those things different songs um

00:05:00 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

And to be fair, I did love it when it was kids because usually they were, like, super excited. Just leave me alone. They were super excited. But I looked over and it was a grown-ass adult. And I just said, we done with that. First of all, it wasn't even a fun birthday song. I feel like restaurants don't do that anymore. It was just a regular happy birthday song, which sounds like a death song. I don't want to hear that on my birthday. There are good versions of it. Thank you, people of color. But the white version is terrible and sounds like, hey, you're closer to death.

00:05:33 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. The Polish version is good, too. The Stola, Stola, Stola, Yeji, Yeji, and I, when they do that, I like that one, too.

00:05:40 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 3:

The Japanese version is good, too. The Japanese one? Tom Joby, yo, medito.

00:05:44 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't know how I know that.

00:05:45 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

That's still the Death March song, though. Is it? Yes. Happy birthday to you.

00:05:52 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 3:

Sounds like you're gonna die soon. You see, in the Murphy family, when Happy Birthday is sung to you, we try to make it sound as bad as possible. So everybody starts at different times, different tones, sometimes different voices, different accents, and it's actually really fun.

00:06:04 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

00:06:05 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

The only good one is, happy birthday to you.

00:06:08 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's a great one. Happy birthday to you. My favorite. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear darling. I am going to go on a limb. I'll say you're a bit of a curmudgeon. Yes. I think there are some times where you just need to pick me up. I agree with you. You know what I mean?

00:06:32 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

That song does not pick you up, though. It does. It depends on your energy level and your effort when you sing it. No, the pick me up is the free Sunday coming with the song. Give them the Sunday. They don't do that anymore either. No free desserts anywhere, hardly.

00:06:45 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 4:

I would rather have the free dessert and no song. I will say this, though. If I am an adult and there's a happy birthday song, bring me a shot. Keep your Sunday. Sure, sure. That's the way to do it.

00:06:54 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

I always feel like the person that's getting birthday wishes sung to them never wants it to, unless they're a child. Correct. It is slightly awkward. It's a surprise. You don't like it at all. You know what I mean?

00:07:08 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

I really don't want 16-year-olds coming over to wish me a happy birthday.

00:07:12 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 3:

I feel old already. Okay. But I do love the restaurants. And Chi-Chi's, R.I.P. back in the day on Eureka Road, used to do this. And Aldana's in Troy, the Mexican restaurant that I love, although they have raised their prices, and I'm very disappointed. But on your birthday, they bring you the big sombrero.

00:07:32 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:07:32 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 3:

And you have to stand on your chair. And I love it. That's pretty cool. I love that.

00:07:36 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

But to Kev's point, if that hat does not come with a shot, don't bring me the hat.

00:07:41 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 1:

You don't want it at all, right? Don't bring me the hat. Yeah.

00:07:44 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 4:

Attention, Julie. She's got a birthday in the house. It's Sydney's birthday.

00:07:47 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

Today is a very, very special day because it's Haley's 14th birthday.

00:07:56 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, guys. Did you guys ever go to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese back in the day? Do you know what they do now?

00:08:03 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 4:

What do they do?

00:08:04 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 3:

So Smith just went to one on Saturday, and they put you in one of those win booths. Yeah. And they let it blow around, and you can get tickets or whatever, points for tickets. Like, Chuck E. Cash, kind of? Yeah. That's really cool. I mean, do that with adults, but, like, money.

00:08:24 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 1:

I used to bring the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for their birthdays, and the animatronic things made me feel like they were going to kill us.

00:08:30 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Animatronics freak me out, especially underwater animatronics. Really give me the heebie-jeebies.

00:08:35 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

I do have to say that Megan is a little bit of a curmudgeon, but she also is right on this one, because I do hate when the birthday songs are sung to myself. I don't like it. But, you know, that's just me. But I will also say that the people that work there, and you're obviously somebody that has worked at a restaurant, they seem so less enthused about doing it.

00:08:58 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

We don't want to do it.

00:08:59 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

They don't like it.

00:08:59 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

We don't want to.

00:09:00 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 1:

There's a restaurant in Chicago that we will go to and celebrate birthdays at for Jacob because our son Jake lives there. And they're so aggressive at the end with a, like at the end where Jacob literally goes, I have more anxiety now than I've ever had in my life because of this damn thing.

00:09:17 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I'm not revealing too much, but we would always be in the weeds. There would be 8 million burgers that needed to be ran out. The servers were pissed. The bars backed up, and they would be like, go do a birthday song. Take at least five people with you. And everybody was like, no!

00:09:32 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I have to tell you that one of the saddest things I've heard not that long ago was that Red Robin is now one of those places that's being faced with the potential of closing down. Did you hear about that?

00:09:42 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 4:

We've got to get out and support.

00:09:43 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, there's something wrong. Yeah, they're talking about how Red Robin. Yeah.

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 4:

Mr. Meyer and Flintstones were the best.

00:10:03 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 6:

Yes, there you go, there you go. Happy, happy birthdays. Aaron, you like when you're being sung happy birthday?

00:10:12 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 5:

No, I texted in that Texas Roadhouse makes you sit on a saddle.

00:10:17 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 6:

They do? Oh, really? So you actually are like, what, riding like a bull or something like that or a horse? What is it? Does the saddle do anything? Okay.

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 7:

But Mojo, where is KP?

00:10:29 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 6:

You know what? Unfortunately, our company doesn't allow us to divulge information on stuff. They've told us that we can't do it, but she's no longer with the show, and we hope her to have nothing but the best. Love KP. I do love all the people that are aggressively asking that on social media, and they are aggressively coming up with their own theories on stuff, but she's going to be great. She'll pop up somewhere else and do something else, And I know that she will do great with it. And I will tell you this, that the people who are so aggressive with this thing and say that they'll never listen again, I'll hear from you probably on the next person that leaves the show. That usually happens that way.

00:11:14 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 5:

I've been listening since Spike was on the show. I'm not going anywhere. I love all you guys. Thank you. You guys are amazing.

00:11:20 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, man. I appreciate you so much. Now, jump on the saddle. I want to sing to you. By the way, that just sounds so sexual, doesn't it?

00:11:26 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 2:

It does. I am a big birthday person. I love celebrating my own birthday. I love celebrating other people's birthdays. I think it's important. I don't want to ride a saddle in front of others.

00:11:36 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 6:

I've got to be honest with you. I remember you riding a saddle in New Orleans. I was very drunk. We went to this place in New Orleans. Erin, let me tell you real quick with this one. You've got to hear this story before you get going on your day. We went to New Orleans for morning show boot camp, and they had one of those bull ride things, and the guy must have liked Shannon because every other person he knocked off within seconds. This guy must have been enjoying Shannon's booty on the saddle because he literally kept you on there for like 20 minutes, it seemed like. Very true. Shannon was like, this is...

00:12:07 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 7:

One person doesn't enjoy Shannon. Well, that's true.

00:12:09 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 6:

But it was interesting, though. The guy was very, very long. He kept slowing it down when you were about to fall and stuff. Aaron, have a great day, buddy. We'll see you. Amanda, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

00:12:22 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. So I will be 37 May 1st. And I love when they come sing me the birthday song. Bring me whatever. Tune up your vocals, because I want the song. Clean up your vocals. Tune up.

00:12:36 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 6:

Tune up. Tune up. Tune up your vocals. What is the restaurant that has the best birthday song, though, for you?

00:12:43 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, I like to call Red Robin, Applebee's.

00:12:47 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, the chain restaurants are the best.

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 5:

Applebee's, they come out, they start clapping.

00:12:51 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. By the way, I... Applebee's will clap for you. I saw one of my favorite people in the world, Jordan Letterman, celebrating a birthday with all of his friends. He's like, you know, 28, 29 years old. And at the end of the birthday thing, the friends did, now you've got to skip around the room. I've never seen that before. Have you ever seen that at all? They made him skip around the room. It was crazy. Because I've seen people do it before where they'll do the, may the dear Lord bless you. Or the people that at the end will, you know, do some kind of like in I think the Polish tradition is, you know, they do some kind of crazy thing. I don't know. But I've never seen the skip around the room part. I thought that was kind of interesting.

00:13:29 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Next time you go to a chain restaurant, look at the server who's very last in line to go to the table. And look at the look on their face because they are pissed.

00:13:36 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 6:

I actually, next time I have a birthday and I have them sing to me and I know that there's the straggler, I'm going to say, stop, guys. I'm not going to be happy until that guy. I will fill out the comment card if you don't sing for me. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen? We got a Back in the Day right now for tickets to see Tommy Richman. Tommy Richman. You ever know? I know. Kevin knows the words to every bit of any Kendrick Lamar song. I can't even come up with whatever word Tommy Richman is saying. A million-dollar baby. I know, but I don't know all the words. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey separated in this year.

00:14:22 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Cannon told us Mariah was his rock during his 2012 lupus scare.

00:14:26 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 5:

I think some good medicine, too, is Miss Mariah Carey. Oh, that's the best medicine right there.

00:14:31 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 3:

But Mariah alluding to trust issues during this interview with Barbara Walters. Do you trust him? Sometimes. Oh?

00:14:40 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 6:

Kevin Hart starred in Ride Along in this year.

00:14:43 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

You guys think you tough because you're in a little gang? You want to know what tough looks like? I'm the definition of tough. My mother was a stripper. Dan's name was Asphalt. Anybody else here been raised by a woman who clapped her ass for money? Dollars. You have it.

00:15:00 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 6:

And the big song from Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea. I would have won the throwback throwdown point on this one for Problem. I got one less problem without you. I got one less problem without you. What year was this? If you know it, we'll set you up with a prize.

00:15:16 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 7:

One less, one less problem without you.

00:15:19 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 6:

You're smart.

00:15:20 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 7:

Prove it. You remember the year the stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Mojo in the morning.

00:15:28 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Online.

00:15:28 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 7:

All right, all happened in the same year.

00:15:37 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 6:

This was the year that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon separated.

00:15:40 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 4:

If I could be a better father outside of your bubble, then that's what I want to do because I'm here for my children. And no disrespect to your bubble in how y'all move and the system that you've created.

00:15:53 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 6:

Kevin Hart starred in Ride Along.

00:15:56 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 1:

You guys think you tough because you're in a little gang? You want to know what tough looks like? I'm the definition of tough. My mother was a stripper. Dan's name was Ass Fault. Anybody else here been raised by a woman who clapped her ass for money? Dollars.

00:16:12 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 6:

And the big song from Ariana. What year was it? Let's go to Rosalie. Hi, Rosalie.

00:16:19 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 5:

Love that name. Good morning.

00:16:20 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 6:

Good morning to you in Toledo. What year was that?

00:16:24 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 5:

That was 2014. Ta-da! Rosalie!

00:16:28 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 6:

Winner, congratulations to you.

00:16:31 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:16:31 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 6:

We're going to give you these tickets. Tommy Richman will be at St. Andrews Hall in downtown Detroit March the 28th. You got a pair of tickets. LiveNation.com, by the way, if you want to buy tickets. Congratulations to you.

00:16:41 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much, y'all.

00:16:42 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 6:

You have a great day. Where are you heading today? What did you do? Work?

00:16:47 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 5:

It's actually my day off. I just worked my first 13-hour shift yesterday at the dispensary. Oh, man. So I'm taking a break today.

00:16:54 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 6:

Why are you up then this early in the morning? Why aren't you catching up on sleep?

00:16:57 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 5:

I had to take my husband to work at 6. So I'm like, you know, I'll get a couple hours in, and then I'll take him to work, and then I'll do my thing for the day.

00:17:04 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 6:

You are the greatest wife in the world. Thank you. Aside from my own wife. I don't want her to be upset with me.

00:17:11 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 5:

We try. Thank you. You're incredible.

00:17:13 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 6:

Hang on one second. We'll get you set up, okay?

00:17:16 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:17:16 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 6:

Want to win tickets to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA? This is at Ford Field. Mustard. M-U-S-T-A-R-D. text that to 95500. Text mustard to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, we got a lot of dirty this morning.

00:17:42 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, we'll let you get right to it. What do you got? So President Donald Trump ordered the release of about 80,000 pages of previously classified documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, fulfilling a longstanding promise to declassify all of those records. Remember, well, I don't remember because I was not even born yet, but this was the

00:18:03 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 3:

announcement that Walter Cronk made. From Dallas, Texas, the flash, apparently official, President Kennedy died at 1 p.m. Central Standard Time. Seeing all of the news stations playing that

00:18:17 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 2:

yesterday. But if you were looking for a bombshell here yesterday at the release of these documents, there weren't really any some of the highlights i guess you could say most of which were previously known a cia memo from september of 1963 confirmed that lee harvey oswald the assassin of course was under surveillance by the cia and this was 59 days before jfk was assassinated there's an ex-cia agent involved here his name is gary underhill and he has always claimed that the cia was responsible for the president's assassination. Then he was later found dead in what was ruled a quote unquote suicide. And then a man named Sergei Swarnozo allegedly had knowledge that Lee Harvey Oswald would be killed after assassinating JFK and that Martin Luther King Jr. would also be assassinated. He also somehow knew in advance that Kennedy would be killed in dallas so those are just a couple of things that came out of this but again a lot of it was just previously known what we got was some names that were redacted um you could see now but it wasn't

00:19:31 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 6:

it wasn't anything have you ever been to that area there where that took place in dallas it never been to dallas it is the tiniest first off it dallas is you know it go there for like an event don't go there just a vacation because there ain't nothing great there but don't be pissed at me you guys are the little d to our big d um when i did that tour okay they took us it's like driving

00:20:00 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 1:

down the street and just being standing and standing there in a town like you know a small town like Plymouth Michigan it's that's what it is the area is not very big like I thought it would be something like like driving down or or yeah or driving down Michigan Avenue Chicago or driving down Broadway in New York and there'd be big buildings and all this stuff it's like this little building where he was and the little turn was like a just a little street turn and I'm thinking to myself you're right up on people like how did they not know that you could actually kill a president in a convertible driving down the street america it was crazy that this was going on at that time but i don't know if we were just more trusting or something yeah or they just really wanted this guy dead i mean it's crazy i think it's that one yeah and i will say this to you it's funny you know my dad was not a kennedy guy because my dad was cuban and he thought kennedy you know screwed up the bay of pigs so he got all upset about kennedy kennedy might have been

00:20:56 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 3:

The hottest president ever.

00:20:57 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, that. But if he would have lived, some people think that he could have been the best president that we've ever had. Like he would have been like Ronald Reagan-esque. A lot of people praise Ronald Reagan.

00:21:07 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Do you really think he was hot? Oh, yeah. Very good looking.

00:21:11 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. I think he is.

00:21:14 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 3:

Crack okay. He got that. He's looking in two different directions at once. No. He had a walkie eye.

00:21:21 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 1:

Who do you think is the hottest president, Megan? I think Madison. Madison.

00:21:27 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 3:

I think Barack. Oh, Barack for sure. Barack pretty good looking. Hands down. Ronald Reagan for an older man.

00:21:34 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 2:

Obama is a Mac-dad.

00:21:35 - 00:21:36 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:21:36 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm the big RF case man. Obama pimps white women and black women.

00:21:41 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 3:

We didn't talk too much about Diddy's phone call to Kanye from jail.

00:21:47 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 1:

He called Kanye?

00:21:49 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so this was like a six and a half minute phone call. It was posted on Monday by the Shade Room. And it appeared, appeared to have been recorded by Kanye. However, I don't know who was the person to leak it. A source claims Diddy thought he was having a friendly phone call with Kanye to check on his kids. Diddy again has seven kids and his kids apparently are in touch with Kanye. Here's a little piece of that phone call. Well, the story this morning is that Diddy apparently didn't know that his leaked call with Kanye had been recorded for the general public to hear. He did not think that that was even a possibility. All prison calls are logged and recorded internally. Those records are not generally available to the public.

00:22:54 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 1:

Interesting. That's, I would think that everything is recorded if I was in prison.

00:22:59 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it is. Especially if you didn't. For internal purposes, he just didn't, he wasn't aware that we were all going to get to hear it the whole time.

00:23:05 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 2:

He sounded like he was in good spirits, though. I mean, for a guy that's incarcerated and been accused of the things he's been accused of, he did sound like he was in good spirits.

00:23:14 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 3:

Taylor Swift was a sounding board for Travis Kelsey when he was deciding whether to retire from the NFL. I guess she made it very well known that she was definitely in favor of him playing again because she wants him to go out on a high note. Not the devastating loss that the Chiefs suffered to the Eagles last month. So I don't necessarily know if it was her decision, but she played a big part in it.

00:23:38 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of a random story. That's interesting. I would think.

00:23:41 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

Sorry.

00:23:42 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 1:

No, but I'm saying that I would assume that she'd be a sounding board, right? They're dating, right? Don't you talk to people like that?

00:23:48 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 3:

I think that the story is a story because she's a bigger influence than anybody thinks in his decision making.

00:23:59 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 1:

Listen, anybody that doesn't think that the woman in a guy's life is the biggest influence in their life is crazy.

00:24:05 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, there is a new hot first date spot. Really? Literally. Coffee shops. Coffee shops have become the go-to destination for first dates rather than meeting up for drinks or full-on dinner. Why? I mean, a lot of reasons. They're cozy, safe, relaxed. Plus, it's a quick date, so you're not stuck. If the date is not going well, you're there for, what, like an hour? You and Wes did this, right? Yeah, we did. Yeah, I remember that. It's a good idea because sometimes when you do drinks with somebody, if it's going bad and then they're asking for dinner, you know what I mean? And then you feel like you're stuck. Yeah. sorry you're all looking at me just wondering if somebody was going to talk but no no i want no i

00:24:47 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 1:

wasn't i was just going to uh ask the uh the question what's secondary to a coffee shop like where would you take them like a park or something like that or happy hour somewhere

00:24:56 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

six o'clock gotta go can't afford it after this time we should do that as like a little impromptu like survey this morning 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 where and anybody that does the coffee shop dates want to hear from you guys but where is like the place to go on a date that keeps you from having to be like trapped

00:25:18 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 4:

stuck what's the what's the best one i got the perfect one what meet up with me save it for the

00:25:23 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 3:

let me do it after this break because i want to do a topic on it okay so lydia look for it go ahead

00:25:28 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 4:

00:25:46 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. so shannon just uh did a report just a second ago talking about how the number one spots for first dates of people who are online dating are coffee shops and always have heard this always heard coffee shops are the best dates for the reason that this actual survey says the idea that you're not stuck and it's interesting because i would love to know from listeners what's the worst spot too because what's the worst spot where you're actually you are stuck uh because we were just discussing this and the conversations came up over some of the places and i'm thinking to myself there are some places that you could get completely screwed at by going and taking a first date somewhere anywhere where there's an activity oh yeah it's like a really

00:26:37 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 4:

cute first date spot if it's going well yesterday we were talking about putt-putt for whatever reason or the day before but that could be really really bad if you immediately don't vibe with the person

00:26:47 - 00:27:09 | Speaker 3:

well that that one and then um also certain restaurants where it becomes a process to their food like restaurants that serve courses or those brazilian steakhouses where they're bringing around the beef like you know what i mean like don't take me to fogo de chuk chukau or whatever the heck it is you know what i mean megan what was the place that you were going to bring up

00:27:09 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 4:

Um, having somebody, um, meet up with me to walk my dog.

00:27:14 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:27:14 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 4:

Because then you can't invite me out to a restaurant. Gotta take the dog home.

00:27:18 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 3:

Have you done that?

00:27:19 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 4:

No, but I just thought it would be a good idea. Actually, I had a girlfriend do that for, like, her first couple of dates with somebody because the guy had a dog, too. She met him online. And that was, those were great first dates. They ended up, they realized they lived kind of near each other, so they would just meet up and walk their dogs. And you can make that very short, or you can make that very long.

00:27:36 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Are there dog parks, aren't there like places, like certain neighborhoods that have dog parks? Are dog parks good ideas? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I would love to know. I want, I also want to hear the, I think the funnier calls will probably be the worst first date places. Like what places make it like horrible? Like nobody's going to Cedar Point on a first date. Like we actually, I think, had that as a contest one time.

00:28:04 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 4:

We had, we were talking.

00:28:06 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

talking about doing i think it was ride day and ride you know so i know i forget what the name we came up with it was some kind of a uh you know entendre or something but uh we were going to do cedar point i'm thinking to myself man if you're somebody that doesn't live near sandusky that's one big reason you got to take a car right out there but then you're trapped inside of the park like you're kind of in there what about like a concert concerts to me seem like they'll be too

00:28:32 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 2:

long too it's like a movie you can't talk but i'm thinking about ways where if you don't vibe with the person you can still enjoy the atmosphere yeah afterward yeah well i mean like just in general yeah if i go if we go to a concert and i'm not vibing with you at least hopefully i like the artist yeah i mean that's kind of like my escape i'll say what i think is cedar point at least i can ride the ride but no fast pass i ain't waiting two hours with you yeah that's bad

00:28:55 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 3:

what's the worst place that you've ever taken somebody um the worst place i can't think of a

00:29:01 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 2:

worst place. I'm not going to sound like

00:29:03 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 3:

that, but dates are pretty fun from my perspective. You have, wait, then let's talk to the girls. What's the worst place Kev took you? I want to know from you where that was. Alright, let me do the 5 at 6.55 and then Lydia, line up some calls for me. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

Pass.

00:31:32 - 00:32:03 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Taylor Swift supposedly influenced Travis Kelsey's decision to not retire from the Kansas City Chiefs. True or false? The Chiefs won this year's Super Bowl. False. And question number five. Yesterday afternoon, the SpaceX Dragon successfully returned two astronauts to Earth after they were stranded in space for nearly nine months. Yeah, Samantha, you only got two out of five.

00:32:13 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just two out of five.

00:32:14 - 00:32:15 | Unknown:

Yikes.

00:32:15 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 1:

That's all you got to beat, Rochelle. Let's see how you do.

00:32:17 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 3:

Although I appreciate you sucking up real bad with question number one.

00:32:21 - 00:32:36 | Speaker 1:

Question number one. You ready? I'm ready. This legendary music festival just announced its lineup for this year. It's in Chicago with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, and Tyler, the creator. What's it called?

00:32:38 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 3:

I think it's Lollapalooza. Yes. There we go. One and nothing.

00:32:41 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 1:

Lollapalooza. Question number two. Bruce Willis turns 70 years old today. What's the name of his action movie that causes arguments every holiday season over whether or not it's a Christmas movie?

00:32:54 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, um, um, um, um. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

00:33:02 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 1:

Die Hard. Die Hard.

00:33:03 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:33:05 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Got to get at least one more of these right to tie. Two right, you win. Question number three. The haters continue to hate. Meghan Markle is now being accused of faking the green St. Patrick's Day waffles that she made for her kids this week. Name one of the duchess's two kids.

00:33:25 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 3:

Millie. I have no idea. Millie? Say Millie. No. So close. Lily.

00:33:30 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 1:

Lily is one of them. Lilibet, we would have accepted. And Archie would have been accepted.

00:33:37 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 3:

Day is one to nine.

00:33:37 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 1:

All right. You got to get at least one of these next ones right or both of them for a win. Question number four. Taylor Swift supposedly influenced Travis Kelsey's decision on not to retire from the Kansas City Chiefs. True or false, the Chiefs won this year's Super Bowl.

00:33:54 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Two to one.

00:33:57 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 1:

And it comes down to this question. Question number five in the five at 6.55. If you get this right, you're our new champion. If you miss it, we'll do a tiebreaker. Question number five. Yesterday afternoon, the SpaceX Dragon successfully returned two astronauts to Earth after they were stranded in space for nearly nine months. What is the name of the government agency that oversees the country's space exploration?

00:34:26 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 3:

Jesus, really? Three seconds. Uh. Three. Two. NASA. I don't know. NASA, it is. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You're a winner. Congratulations. There's your beater. Wow.

00:34:40 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 2:

Good job.

00:34:41 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 1:

NASA is right.

00:34:43 - 00:34:45 | Speaker 3:

You're making me nervous with that one.

00:34:45 - 00:34:49 | Speaker 1:

Rochelle is a winner this morning. Rochelle at the bill.

00:34:50 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Unbelievable. My coworkers are listening right now, so I just want to shout out to them.

00:34:54 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Congratulations, Rochelle. You're back tomorrow. Samantha, I want you to hang on the phone.

00:35:00 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 2:

We're going to give you a parting gift. I've got a $50 Panda Express gift card for you. So go enjoy that. Get some Panda Express. Give me some orange chicken, baby.

00:35:10 - 00:35:13 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Panda Express is so weird. I know.

00:35:15 - 00:35:49 | Speaker 2:

Hang on the phone and we'll get you set up with that. It was really nice to meet you, Samantha. I did too. We'll get to know you tomorrow, Rochelle. Hold on one second, okay? It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about first dates here right now. Hold on a second. Zach says he's got the worst first date. Where was the worst first date, Zach?

00:35:51 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 4:

It'd probably be an escape room.

00:35:53 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 2:

Escape room? Oh, my gosh. Interesting.

00:35:55 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 5:

Great one.

00:35:56 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yes. You can't escape the date, nor can you escape the actual room.

00:36:00 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever done that?

00:36:02 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 4:

No, but that sounds like nightmare fuel.

00:36:04 - 00:36:06 | Speaker 5:

It's good if you start fighting.

00:36:06 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 2:

Totally. Oh, my God. I know that actually would probably test your resolve in this relationship.

00:36:13 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 5:

That's a fifth date.

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:36:15 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 5:

That's a never date.

00:36:16 - 00:36:21 | Speaker 2:

Taylor, hi. What's going on? We're talking about the first dates. What was your first date that you had?

00:36:21 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. So my husband and I, we went to Topgolf in Auburn Hills.

00:36:27 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Bad date or good date?

00:36:30 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 3:

No, it was really good. I guess it's pretty cool because it always starts with an hour, and you can add on time if it's going well.

00:36:39 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so an hour minimum at least, and then if you want, you can have more. That's an interesting one. It's funny because I feel like that place, when it's crowded on like a Friday night or Saturday night, could get a little bit weird, But also the other thing, too, is if you're not really athletically inclined, do you really want to be going swinging a golf club?

00:36:58 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's true. I guess if you're more shy, then I probably wouldn't like that, but I admit it.

00:37:04 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 2:

You ever watch the videos of people falling off the edge and those things into the nets? That's crazy. Hysterical. I hope that they're on first dates. That would make it a great date. You end up at, I don't know, one of the hospitals there. What's up, Mandy? Are you there?

00:37:19 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hi.

00:37:20 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mandy. this has got to be the worst first date ever that megan don't ever go on a date like this or

00:37:25 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 4:

or lydia or bianca what's the date so uh we went skydiving for our first date well and so we're from um toledo bg area yeah and had to drive all the way up to ipsilanti for it and so he actually had the tickets from the year prior because his then girlfriend he was going to propose but it got rain delayed and then they broke up and then he took me on the

00:37:59 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 5:

first date all right just so you know because I went skydiving and when I lived in Toledo to

00:38:04 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 2:

come see much closer so quick question Mandy so he takes you on what is a re-gift basically of going on the skydiving thing. Do you really want to jump out of an airplane? Was that something that you wanted to do?

00:38:17 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:38:18 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? Okay. So you were actually into that.

00:38:20 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it was a blast. But the second date was a Chinese buffet, and we had nothing to talk about.

00:38:29 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. That's more my speed. That's more my – the whole idea of jumping out of an airplane, because there's a process, isn't it? Like, first off, you have to drive to the thing, but then you get in there, and then don't they drive you to the plane? and then when you land you went skydiving will you ever go skydiving again no we're not on that

00:38:46 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 1:

why why will you not go skydiving the worst experience i've ever had in my life explain i don't know what they uh all right so me and this girl shout out to dominique this was a day actually we used to do some wild stuff first date i think this might have been our second day the first day we went into like some water with like some propellers tied to our feet and we like flew around in the air it was wild second she was adventurous so we go up to fowlerville we get We get in the car, we drive up, sign our little waivers. We get into the airplane, 10,000 feet in the air. This one, I knew it was wrong. The pilot, like, look over there. It's a storm coming, but it should be, like, 30 minutes out. I'm like, all right, he know what he's talking about. What am I going to say? I ain't going to go? So we jump out.

00:39:28 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 2:

How many teeth did the pilot have?

00:39:31 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 1:

I couldn't even see it. He didn't even turn around. I don't know what this man was like.

00:39:34 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Usually these guys that work in these skydiving places, they're like, bro, that's what it felt like.

00:39:39 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

He like the storm coming 30 minutes away, but we should be good. I'm like, all right, bet. So we jump out. We start to land. The dude is a tandem. The dude on my back, like, yeah, the storm's coming quicker than we expected. He looking at where we supposed to land. He like, we ain't going to land there, though. We going to land in this field over here. I'm like, what am I going to say? Like, I don't want to land in the field? So they tell you when you land that.

00:40:00 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 2:

you're supposed to kick your legs up and slide on your butt in my mind i couldn't i couldn't slide on my butt so we going down the wind takes our parachute in a direction that is not supposed to go so instead of easing down we shoot down like a missile so i'm coming down fast as hell i'm like i'm not about to smash my tail ball and break my butt in my back so immediately as soon as we land i kick my legs out boom slam on his back i'm like i'm like are you okay he in the back like um he get up we got these parachutes it's this tall ass grass it looked like poison ivy i don't know where we going we look around he's like there's a telephone pole that means there's a road there i'm like all right i guess i guess that's what we're doing so we holding damn parachutes kicking tall grass this lady pulled up in a gold wind star she's like oh my god y'all flew over my house and y'all never come this far so i took my kids with my mom and i told her She thought you were aliens. No, she jumps. She tells us to get in a car. She got suckers all in her damn seats. It's pieces and stuff. We get in her car. She drive us back to the place. We get in the shed. The dude just fall down like.

00:41:03 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 3:

Wait, he fell down. He was exhausted?

00:41:05 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 2:

What happened to your date? She had been there for about an hour. She's like, where have y'all been? What's going on? She was like, I was about to call the police and tell them to go look for y'all. She landed in somebody's backyard. Like, they had to take her off.

00:41:18 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 4:

Why can't they not send somebody with a car that works there? He got in the Windstar at first.

00:41:24 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 2:

We got it off of Groupon.

00:41:28 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 4:

Are you out of damn minds?

00:41:31 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 3:

Do you think this girl did it purposely? She went on the good side of this thing. You actually were going to be killed. I was wearing an iPad and I was going to go for it. Let me say this. When you're going to go skydiving, if the person at the skydiving place goes, ah, there's a storm coming in 30 minutes, I ain't going. Guess what? We're already up there. I mean, I don't go golfing when there's a storm coming in 30 minutes, let alone leave the earth. Mackenzie, what was your first date?

00:41:57 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 4:

I went on a helicopter ride for my first date.

00:42:00 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. And we have those great people that do the helicopter rides for our, you know, they're nice people. They're advertisers. What is it called? Something. What's the advertising, the helicopter place called? Why am I brain farting? Me too. I would never do a first date in a helicopter. You're trapped up there.

00:42:19 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 4:

Myflighttours.com.

00:42:20 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's so awkward.

00:42:22 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 4:

And then, like, at the end of the date, they make you take a picture. So imagine standing next to somebody you just met for the first time and having to wrap your arm around them and take a picture. Oh, my God. It's so awkward.

00:42:33 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's craziness. And first off, that's actually interesting. Imagine going on a first date, and at the end of any date, they want you to get together and smile like you actually enjoyed it. Yeah. Yeah. At any point, did you wish that the helicopter crashed?

00:42:50 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, yeah. Because this was, like, the worst, worst day. This guy was so weird. It was just, like, he's, like, taking pictures, and he's, like, trying to take pictures of me with, like, the window in the background. And I'm, like, I don't know you. Please do not take pictures of me.

00:43:04 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 3:

How did you guys meet? And what was the other option that you were going to do?

00:43:10 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

He literally just slid into my DMs on Instagram. I was, like, recently single, so I was, like, okay that sounds cool whatever and what was what was option two there was no option two well it was that or go to his house and he's gonna cook me dinner which i was not gonna yeah

00:43:27 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 3:

i'd rather be up in the sky than be at the guy's apartment he shows up answering the door and wants you to do the helicopter yeah ah well thank you very much we appreciate your calls uh all right it's mojo in the morning Time now for 5 Lies to Tell Your Mom. We're going to make up some lies here. Make your mom believe that you got yourself your big break. Lie number one, Malcolm, you're going to say, Mom, Netflix is sending me a private jet.

00:45:26 - 00:45:26 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:45:27 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 5:

Lie number two.

00:45:28 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 2:

Say, they want to buy my show. It's called Nuts on the Brain.

00:45:32 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 5:

Nuts on the Brain is crazy. Lie number three. It's about raccoons eating nuts. Lie number four.

00:45:42 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 1:

I have to move to New Zealand and go through a boot camp called the Raccoon Ranch.

00:45:48 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 5:

Wowee. Now, what's your sister's name?

00:45:50 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 4:

Jamelia.

00:45:51 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 5:

Okay, lie number five. You're going to say, I need you to bring my luggage to Jamelia's house as soon as possible.

00:45:59 - 00:46:00 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:46:00 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 2:

We need excitement and we need panic because you are in a hurry.

00:46:04 - 00:46:05 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:46:05 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 5:

Got it. All right. We're going to see what kind of screenwriter and actor you are by doing this.

00:46:11 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lord. Okay.

00:46:13 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 5:

All right. We're going to see if this guy is going to make it off of just doing five lies to tell your mom. Here we go.

00:46:19 - 00:46:19 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:46:23 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

hey ma hello ma yes hey what you doing isn't that yeah oh okay your number came up funny um not getting ready for the day oh how you feeling yeah i'm okay you feel that day

00:47:15 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, shoot.

00:47:18 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Netflix is going to be a private jet.

00:47:21 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, right, whatever. Okay.

00:47:23 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 4:

No, look, look, look. Netflix is going to be a private jet. They, this is crazy. They want to buy a show I wrote called Nuts on the Brain.

00:47:34 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 3:

Nuts on the plane?

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 4:

Nuts on the brain.

00:47:39 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 3:

Nuts on the brain?

00:47:41 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Black blood on the brain like Rihanna, but nuts on the brain.

00:47:47 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't know anything about that. Okay, they want to send you a private jet to do what?

00:47:52 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 4:

So they want to buy my show. It is about raccoons eating nuts. I know it sounds crazy, but it's a show about raccoons eating nuts.

00:48:00 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 3:

It's about porn. Raccoons eating nuts.

00:48:03 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 4:

Porn?

00:48:05 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

How does it sound like porn? Go ahead. Yeah.

00:48:08 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 4:

So, this is the part that I was kind of holding back on. So, I have to move to New Zealand for a year and go through a boot camp called the Raccoon Ranch.

00:48:24 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Whatever.

00:48:26 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm serious.

00:48:27 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 3:

Where the hell is New Zealand? Like, where is that?

00:48:31 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 4:

New Zealand. So, I have to go to New Zealand to do boot camp, Raccoon Ranch, and I'm going to be there for a year. So, I need you to bring my luggage to Jamila's house as soon as possible because we're leaving. What? Leaving. So, I was supposed to go back to L.A. today, but Netflix is like, they have to charter me out today. My flight leaves at 1. So, I need my luggage to Jamila's as soon as possible.

00:49:01 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

Today?

00:49:03 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes, like today as in the next.

00:49:05 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, is this a joke? Because there's no way. I've never heard of Nuts on the Brain. I told you they're going to try to get you into that porn.

00:49:16 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 4:

It's not porn. That sounds like porn. Nuts on the Brain? Not porn. It's literally a show about raccoons eating nuts.

00:49:24 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know where New Zealand is on the map, okay? First off. And you're talking about being gone a whole year, Matt? Really, son? Really? Yes, it's worth it.

00:49:40 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mom.

00:49:41 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 3:

Who's going with you?

00:49:43 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Mom.

00:49:45 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 3:

Pardon?

00:49:46 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 5:

How are you, Mom? How you doing?

00:49:49 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm fine. Who's going with you?

00:49:51 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Mom, real quick, I need to tell you something, Mom.

00:49:56 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 3:

Who is this?

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Malcolm hasn't been telling you the complete truth.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lord, what the hell?

00:50:02 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 7:

It actually is a porn. I just want you to know that.

00:50:06 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my f***ing goodness. No, it's not. And no, we're not doing this. No, no, actually, actually, mom. You've been blessed. We're not going to switch it up like that. No.

00:50:18 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 7:

Mom, no, it's not. It's not porn.

00:50:20 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 4:

Come get your own damn luggage.

00:50:22 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 7:

We're not doing that. Mom, this is Mojo in the morning, and you've been on five lies to tell your mom. This is the Mojo in the morning show And Malcolm had you on Five lies to tell your mom

00:51:13 - 00:51:14 | Unknown:

00:51:14 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 7:

00:51:18 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm burning up right now You guys got me good

00:51:21 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 7:

Malcolm, now that would be a fear that I would have too If I was a mom That my son's going to Hollywood But next thing I know, he's doing a porn.

00:51:31 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 5:

That's always mercy. Yeah. And raccoons. I mean, I'm so glad it's not true. I'm so glad it's not true. Thank you. Are you crying? Oh, God. No, I'm not crying.

00:51:52 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gosh. You guys are really great. I love your show. We love you.

00:51:56 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 7:

We love you so much. Malcolm, you're a lucky guy. You got a great mom. Give it up for mom.

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, guys. Thank you. And this guy, hey, Malcolm, you remember us when you're big time, you know, producer in Hollywood, okay?

00:52:15 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, y'all remember me, so I think it's in print. All right, yes, absolutely.

00:52:19 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 7:

You better give us the exclusive interview, okay? Definitely.

00:52:23 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Bye for me. Bye for me. Sweet.

00:52:28 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 7:

five lies to tell your mama mojo in the morning you've heard the saying when mom says no dad says yes or vice versa it's kind of like one of those ones right here uh shannon what happened

00:52:45 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 1:

it's mojo in the morning how are you if you have if you're divorced and your kids live in two different households i am wondering if you have been a victim of this nonsense so this is lucy Smith's week to be with their dad we do week on week off we transition them every Sunday so when I get a FaceTime from her on her iPad on a day that's not my day I'm so excited to get the chance to talk to her so I answer this FaceTime from her and she is huddled in a corner in one of the rooms at her dad's house I can hear all sorts of commotion in the kitchen in the background and she whispers to me mom can you please drop me off a tub of cookie dough now she always has a tub of toll house cookie dough that we buy from kroger at my house hell she likes to eat it with a spoon after dinner for dessert and dad's house i think they're a little healthier there so i'm thinking she asked dad and he said no i am instantly suspicious of this situation and like i said i could hear people making dinner in the background so i said to her will you need to ask dad to which she replied no mom seriously i love you so much just drop it off on the side of the house and she wanted it like she wanted it to be a secret mission of the cookie dough contraband by the

00:54:05 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 7:

way can you imagine uh her dad's ring cameras going off and seeing you like climbing through

00:54:10 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 1:

she knows there's a way that i could park like halfway down his street and run it over to a of the house where nobody or no camera would catch me. Did you consider it? No. I didn't. You know why I didn't consider it? Because I don't want that phone call afterward and have to deal with that conversation.

00:54:31 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 7:

Does that happen a lot, by the way? If you're in a relationship where you've got two households where the kids will call the other parent and say, hey, mom won't let me or dad won't let me, 844 Mojo Live.

00:54:45 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 6:

just I mean kids and the younger they are the worst they are because they're leaving things at one house that they really really want just I used to call me out dad can you bring me my woody doll be like dog I'm not driving over there for no freaking woody doll

00:55:00 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

See, that I don't mind.

00:55:01 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 1:

That I do. I am doing that constantly.

00:55:04 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 3:

Really? At that very moment? If I happen to leave later, then I'll put it in the car.

00:55:09 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 1:

But I'm not about to get up and drive right in. It might not be at that very moment. But, like, Lucy forgot her Apple Watch at my house this week. So yesterday or Monday. I don't even know what dang date is. Monday, there I am driving it back.

00:55:20 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 2:

Will you do it for something as silly, though, as, like, a toy or something like that? Or you do it for just the Apple Watch? I'm a sucker. I will do it for anything I ask for. Oh, my God. I can only, I remember when the kids were younger, the only thing I can remember the kids couldn't find that they couldn't go to bed with was like a blanket or something like that. Like, I can only imagine that that's got to be something that a lot of divorced parents have to like go back and forth with. And then is there a way to pull the wool over their eyes and make them think that the other blankets are really their blanket? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500 to get through to us. They're smart. I love, by the way.

00:55:58 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 1:

They're smart, and especially in these situations where they know that, you know, you can kind of, like, Lucy is starting to figure out you can pit mom and dad against each other, certain things, even though, like, we're trying really hard to be on the same page at each house, but at both houses. Do you guys talk about food?

00:56:12 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Like, is that something that happens when you're divorced? Like, do you say, like, hey, here's how we're feeding them? Because, like, do you guys have conversations about that, or is it like, hey, I'm not feeding the kids this over here, or you're feeding them?

00:56:23 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 1:

It depends on what it is. Like I, uh, the last time that it was their dad's week to have them, I, Lucy was at a swim practice close to my house and I had promised her nerd gummy clusters because Smith ate all of hers. And so I dropped off some bags of nerds gummy clusters to her swimmy and it was late at night. And apparently like all the kids dove into the bags before bedtime and he was like, if you could just not do that, like it would be, that would be super helpful, which again, What's up, Nikki?

00:56:56 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so my kids, when we did week on, week off, one time they were with him and the girlfriend cooked. They didn't like the food, and he was trying to force them to eat. So they called me and asked if I can bring them McDonald's to eat. Ah.

00:57:11 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 2:

And? You drove right over. What did you do?

00:57:14 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 3:

I took it over there. You know she did. I'm like, well, you can't force them to eat something that they don't like.

00:57:19 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second.

00:57:20 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 3:

That's bad.

00:57:21 - 00:57:29 | Speaker 2:

is that like just trying to like say i'm the the more fun parent well of course i am yeah and be

00:57:29 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 3:

honest you ain't like her no way well at that time i had never even met her but you like embarrassing her i had never met her i could have walked past her and would have known who she was that's funny

00:57:41 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 2:

that uh it's like of course i'm gonna bring it there and i'm gonna give her a dirty eyeball you gave her a hairy eyeball too didn't you when you saw her i didn't even go in they just ran out

00:57:51 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 3:

and grab the food.

00:57:52 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 2:

They grab it.

00:57:53 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 3:

McDonald's!

00:57:54 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 2:

Going crazy. She had to be sick in my house. What's up, Alyssa? Hi.

00:57:58 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

00:57:59 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

00:58:00 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 7:

I was just calling to tell you guys I also have week on, week off with my son. He is four. And he uses his dad against me any time he gets in trouble, any time I won't stop at McDonald's or Taco Bell. He's like, I want my dad. He gets me Taco Bell and he gives me a tablet. I mean, to be fair, I get it.

00:58:22 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 1:

But that's when I say, wow, you have a really fun dad. And that's it. But it's Taco Bell. I'm trying to save money, though. I get it.

00:58:31 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 5:

For sure.

00:58:32 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. You know what you need to do is you need to say, if dad would actually pay me a little bit more child support, I'd get you that.

00:58:38 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no, no, no. We don't have a child support. None of that. It's just like custody. But I always tell him, like, I'm not your dad. I'm not going to get you fast food every day, and I'm not giving you a tablet at four years old.

00:58:52 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:58:52 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 7:

I mean, that's pretty fair. But it's Taco Bell.

00:58:55 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Shelly, what's going on?

00:58:58 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, everybody. How's it going? Good morning. Good morning. What's up? So my son was at his dad's house, and he called me, and he said, Mom, there's an emergency. Dad's on the ground. I need you to bring me a bag of frozen teas right away. I hit him in the nuts with a baseball.

00:59:14 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 4:

Is that true? Did he really?

00:59:16 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 6:

What? He did. He's like, Mom, I need a bag of frozen peas. I dropped Dad in the driveway. I hit him in the nuts with a baseball. I dropped Dad. He got to help me.

00:59:25 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 2:

And do we like Dad? Were you happy to see that Dad got hit in the nuts?

00:59:29 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 5:

You know, yes, I was a little happy, but, you know, so I took the peas over just so I could get a look at that for myself.

00:59:35 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 2:

You wanted to see those nuts one more time. What's going on, Nicole?

00:59:40 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

00:59:41 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's happening? We're talking about how the kids will play the parents. What's up?

00:59:46 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so I'm the stepmom, and this just happened over the weekend. Shannon, we say each other are teenagers, and they can communicate for themselves. So we gave our 15-year-old a $120 limit to spend on soccer cleats. And she said, She gets to the store. She really wants $200 soccer cleats. So she calls her mom, and her mom sends her money.

01:00:06 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy.

01:00:08 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 4:

I call that real smart. Yeah, she came up with the money. I see no problem here. The older they get, the smarter they get about it. They just start dealing with it with a cop for themselves.

01:00:17 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 3:

How did you feel about that? How did you feel about that happening?

01:00:20 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I was fine because, I mean, I get it. She really wanted them. It is what it is, and she really doesn't do it all the time, and we are pretty good about, like, co-parenting and communicating. I just thought it was funny because I'm like, literally this just happened over the weekend. Yeah.

01:00:35 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 3:

Question for you. How much crap do you think that that mom talks about you as a stepmom?

01:00:41 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 4:

I honestly don't think any.

01:00:42 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 3:

That's great.

01:00:44 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 4:

We hang out, like, outside.

01:00:46 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 3:

So that's cool. That's good. Are you just saying that because you're on the radio right now and you know she might be listening, or is that truth?

01:00:52 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, not at all, no. Okay. I don't think so.

01:00:54 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 3:

No, that's nice to know because I got a lot of friends are in divorce situations and there's like crap talking, but that's nice that you guys are all good and everything is good.

01:01:05 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 4:

She's 15 and I've been in her life since she was

01:01:07 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 3:

two. Wow, that's amazing. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Take care of yourself, Nicole. Man, this Tate McRae concert sold out literally within an hour. It was crazy to see how fast everybody wants to go see Tate McRae. She's so huge. Want to win tickets? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 The 95th caller is going to get some. So 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Coming up here next on the Mojo in the Morning show Caught Red Handed The thief that was caught stealing from the prize closet.

01:01:48 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Right now

01:01:52 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 3:

we are going to get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Dirty.

01:01:57 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 6:

I don't know why I was so invested in this, but yesterday those NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Sonny Williams, returned to Earth from a mission that was supposed to last eight days.

01:02:10 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's a movie.

01:02:10 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 6:

When it began last June. Ended up lasting nine months because they were stranded.

01:02:16 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 3:

I know why you were. You were because of the storyline of them being stuck up there, But also, the fact that we don't ever watch these anymore. I was talking during the break with you about when we were kids, we watched every takeoff and every landing. And now I feel like nobody does this anymore.

01:02:34 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

It's the only thing on TV.

01:02:35 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 3:

You know why, Megan? Because we didn't have TikTok to sit there and look at people doing stupid dances and looking like morons.

01:02:42 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 5:

No, because of the Challenger.

01:02:44 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, that's not. Well, you're right. No, but we watched it before that. No, you're right. You know, and Shannon's going to get to her story in a second, but you know that when the Challenger thing went up, every school watched it because that's how you were. You watched that in that historical moment. And when they exploded was such a surprise. And that's why everybody was watching. Everybody was like, wow, why did so many people watch when that happened? It's because that's what you would do. You would watch it all the time. Right.

01:03:09 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So the SpaceX capsule carrying Butch, Sonny, and actually two other astronauts returning from the International Space Station successfully splashed down off the coast of Florida, and I thought it was incredible to see a pod of dolphins swimming right there in the area where this happened.

01:03:26 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 4:

And splashed down. Crew 9, back on Earth.

01:03:32 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 6:

Sonny and Butch ended up spending two hundred and eighty-six days in space.

01:03:37 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 5:

Earlier we saw that person performing safety checks. Now we can see some harnessing being placed around the capsule. This harnessing is what will be used to lift the Dragon capsule out of the water and onto the recovery vessel. Wow, we got a cute little pod of dolphins. It wasn't just one or two. Can you imagine going from weightlessness in space to being splashed around in the waves? They can't go home

01:04:06 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 6:

at this point because you just heard they're going to have to undergo several days at least of testing. Doge's, Elon Musk, by the way, commenting yesterday saying he asked the biden administration to bring back these astronauts

01:04:19 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 1:

months ago spacex could have brought the astronauts back uh after a few months at most and uh we made that offer to the biden administration it was rejected for uh for political reasons and that's

01:04:33 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 2:

just a fact thankfully now they are home question real quick real quick you go up there for eight days all right you're married at what point up there where you feel like you're stranded and no idea if you're going to be saved do you look at the astronaut next to you and say let's bake some

01:04:49 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 3:

cookies and i don't know i have to be honest with you you're on video the whole time i don't know

01:04:56 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

might as well yeah well i don't think

01:05:00 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 1:

If they were going to die, they would have brought them home. They could have brought them home. They just didn't bring them home. But here's the interesting thing. They just said, ah, we good.

01:05:09 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 2:

I'd love to hear from NASA on that one.

01:05:11 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 1:

They could have brought them home if it was a life or death situation, but they left them up there. That was a fact. NASA did say that they would have brought them home sooner, but they didn't take on the SpaceX offer. I don't know why that would be. Why do you think that it would be?

01:05:30 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 2:

That NASA was in the bottom. No idea, but I'd love to hear from NASA.

01:05:33 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 1:

Quick question for you on this one here. Do you guys know the effects of being up in space that long and how bad that is for these people?

01:05:40 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it messes with your blood flow.

01:05:42 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 3:

If you do nothing, you will lose 1% to 2% of your bone density every month you're there. So for a nine-month mission, that's at least 15%, you would imagine. Your heart works differently, and it changes shape. The heart becomes more spherical.

01:05:58 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine that? You lose all that bone density. Hey, get the lawyers on the phone. You think Ozempic is screwing up people's bone density? Going up in space is screwing up people's bone density.

01:06:10 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

All right. Tracy Morgan said he is totally fine after getting sick courtside at the New York Knicks game on Monday night and leaving in a wheelchair with a bloody nose. He claims doctors told him it was food poisoning. And I hope, I hope that is the case. I'm kind of with you. But from his hospital bed yesterday, he thanked fans for their support and also shouted out staffers at Madison Square Garden for caring so well for him.

01:06:35 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 1:

We have an exclusive interview. Tracy Morgan will be joining us this morning during the 930 Dirty here on the show.

01:06:41 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, yesterday, Ryan Reynolds asked the court to dismiss Justin Baldoni's legal claims against him, saying the actor cannot sue him over her feelings. He's doubling down on this thing at this point. Ryan was accused in the lawsuit of mocking and bullying Justin by using the character of Nice Pool in Deadpool and Wolverine to parody Justin's quote-unquote woke feminist image. Well, in a motion to dismiss the lawsuit yesterday, Ryan's lawyers didn't dispute that Nice Pool is based on Justin Baldoni. They admitted it is. But lawyers said that Justin demonstrated quote-unquote thin-skinned outrage by complaining about it. But Justin continues to argue that while Blake Lively accused him of sexually harassing her on set and then trying to ruin her reputation, the couple is trying to destroy his career with false allegations of fat shaming. They were calling him a sexual predator and of pressuring his agency, WME, to drop him as a client.

01:07:39 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

Why do you think that story has kind of gone away? That story kind of that's the first time I've heard you talk about it.

01:07:44 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 2:

I think it was so saturated.

01:07:47 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:07:48 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 2:

And also what's her defense. Well, and I also think that not much has happened. Like, we haven't been getting any more videos or audio or anything like that. Like, we were very consistently for a while. And why haven't we? She's promoting a new movie. Yeah, I mean, we're hearing a lot about her and Anna Kendrick's relationship and how they won't talk to each other in this movie.

01:08:09 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 1:

I want to see them come to terms on that. I bet you that behind the scenes, they're secretly doing something right now to make that story go away. Because we have not heard anything about it.

01:08:20 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Kira. You are going to see Tate McRae. Congratulations to you.

01:08:45 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

01:08:47 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 1:

We got a pair of tickets for you. These tickets, by the way, are on StubHub for like triple the price. I cannot believe how much people are trying to get for these tickets. It's like turning into like almost a mini Taylor Swift there now. Congrats. You got free ones. Don't be selling yours on StubHub. If we see these tickets up on StubHub, we're coming after you.

01:09:09 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, right. I'm going. Enjoy it. Thank you.

01:09:13 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one second, okay? We'll get you set up with that. I would do that, you know? I don't know if you can. What does the contest rule say? But I'd win every radio contest and sell it on Facebook Marketplace.

01:09:24 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 2:

I believe it's illegal.

01:09:26 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 1:

It is?

01:09:26 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:09:27 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 1:

How are they going to catch us? We can't even, you know, police our own place around here at the radio station.

01:09:35 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 2:

This is a crazy story that you're about to tell.

01:09:38 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell this story. All right, Mojo in the Morning. So we came in here this week, and we found out that over the weekend, the prize closet got broken into. And I guess, allegedly, I don't know how the terminology works in something like this, but I guess that Brandon, the building manager,

01:10:00 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 2:

Shout out, Brandon. Who, by the way, works his tail off here. Yes, he does. Guy is amazing. Takes incredible poops. He saw, by the way, you see him in the bathroom? Is that what you're saying? You can't miss those boots. Really? Oh, the boots. Well, you haven't seen his poops, though. All right, let me get to my story here for a second. We have so much ADD going on.

01:10:20 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 4:

What are you, Brandon?

01:10:22 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 2:

When you are in our office, you can tell when somebody's in the office because we have the sensor lights that are here. So I guess he came in early on a Saturday morning, and he saw all the lights on. And he's like, oh, I wonder why the lights are on in here. So he came into the office just to see what was going on, make sure everything was all copacetic. And he noticed a guy on his... Was that a good word to you that? Did I tell you we need to have some ADD medication here right now? Copacetic? That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything. Okay, so he notices a guy on his hands and knees in the little prize door by the prize closet trying to go through some stuff. And then I guess, I don't know how this works, but I guess we were missing a whole bunch of prize gift cards from businesses and stuff. and they said that there was a whole bunch of them that potentially were stolen or about to be stolen. So he ended up calling and getting police involved and all the rest of these people.

01:11:34 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this is an open investigation.

01:11:36 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, something like that. I don't know the whole full story. That's why I had to say allegedly and stuff like that. But I do know this. When Shannon and I were having the conversation about this, I said to Shannon, I go, what would you do in this case? Because if I saw a guy on his hands and knees grabbing on to something that wasn't his i'm running i'm not saying anything i know i know

01:11:59 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 1:

that's so bad but i i told you what i would do i would i would text message our promotions director who's in charge of that prize closet yeah both of them cody and crystal and i'd be like hey there's a dude here and he's rummaging through the prize closet is is he supposed to be in there but honestly it's like there's there's so many people that work here that that that would be legit for them to be in there so i don't even know if right if i would know if if it was being robbed which it

01:12:34 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 2:

was robbed i want to i want to ask this question who caught somebody red-handed and stealing something has anybody ever witnessed a crime happening and what did you do because i realized I'd be a bad witness. I'd be turning the other way.

01:12:47 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 4:

I mean, this ain't as serious as that. My mom called my sister trying to steal some Mentos out of the liquor store one time.

01:12:53 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, every kid steals. Wait, Mentos out of the liquor store?

01:12:56 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 4:

She asked her, could she have them? And then my mom said no. And then she opened them and took them.

01:13:01 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

And then my mom said, what's in your mouth?

01:13:04 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 4:

Melinda.

01:13:06 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 2:

By the way, if she did that and Brandon was there, Brandon you there Brandon yes sir you're a hero Brandon you are a gosh darn hero man

01:13:19 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 3:

yeah I guess so it was definitely an awkward situation for sure in the hands and knees

01:13:25 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 2:

things yeah by the way did we offer a reward did Cody uh our marketing manager did she offer you like any kind of like oh Brandon we're gonna give you a reward for this uh she took me up with some tickets already so my words already came that's sweet brandon what did you actually say

01:13:40 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 3:

to this person when you saw this happening uh i said i said what are you doing he goes i'm so sorry i was just bored and i said i don't care dude and he took that as i don't care what he's doing no i don't care that you're bored so he doubled down and pulled up some more stuff

01:13:56 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

oh you're kidding me wow he thought he thought the i don't care was go ahead oh my gosh it was

01:14:02 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 3:

It was 6.48 in the morning, and I'd just taken my brother out for his 21st birthday the night before, so I wasn't really in a spot to be catching somebody doing some stuff like that.

01:14:11 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:14:15 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

As they doubled down, I told him, I was like, dude, you got to get out of here, man. There's cameras. He's like, I know, I know. I was just bored. And then I just had no idea what to do, so I called my boss who called his boss.

01:14:24 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 2:

I was bored. By the way, you ever see anybody come in this radio studio and steal anything from our studio, So like our liquor, out of our liquor cabinet, you put the cuffs on that son of a bitch. I'll press charges.

01:14:37 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 3:

When I parked across the street, all the lights were off, and they got motion lights inside the building. So when I walked in the building down the hallway corridor, I could see the lights shining through the glossy floor. And I was like, who's in the studio right now? And he wasn't at his desk.

01:14:49 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Although if you catch somebody stealing, have them steal Kevin's little horn that he blows.

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

No, that's why I got two of them. You steal two of them?

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 6:

like these.

01:15:01 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 4:

I'm just kidding.

01:15:02 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he was definitely stealing more than two of everything, let me tell you that for sure. He had a fingertip grip full of everything that he was looking for. Was he shoving it

01:15:08 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 2:

in his pockets, his shirt, under his arm? What was he doing?

01:15:12 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, he didn't have time to shove it in anything. He had it in his hands, on his hands and knees, and it was just like a full stack in his hands. That is crazy. My favorite part was, he goes, I was just looking at him. I was like, dude, you were looking for him. You were digging into stuff. You were looking at him. If you were looking at him, your hands are behind your back and you're leaning in, like, what's that? He's like, no, man.

01:15:29 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 4:

It was crazy. This is our first, you know, thing that happens when we move to Detroit. This is what happens.

01:15:36 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 3:

We got a prize closet robbed. No, we're not going to do that. I'm telling you. Stealing from your job, though, is a real thing.

01:15:42 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 5:

That's wild.

01:15:43 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying? We've all stole Post-it notes. How many prize closet ripoffs?

01:15:48 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 5:

That is not a pen, and what they took is not the same. It's stealing.

01:15:53 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 4:

How many prize closet ripoffs do we have in Farmington Hills? I want Cody to tell me. Maybe we didn't know that we'd ever talk. We didn't have a Brandon. That is true.

01:16:01 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 5:

I worked somewhere where an employee got away with stealing $10,000 for the products before they got caught. So they had already removed $10,000 worth of products. What was the product?

01:16:10 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 6:

This guy wasn't far off.

01:16:12 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Man. Brandon, thank you, buddy. I appreciate it.

01:16:15 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 5:

That is great.

01:16:15 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 4:

That's what I'm here for, man. Good talking to you guys. I'm going to buy you some lunch for that one. Man, with a gift card that I take out of Cody's prize drawer. What's up, Rob? How you doing?

01:16:27 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 3:

Eating at Ford's Garage.

01:16:29 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we're doing okay. We're talking about getting caught red-handed. Did you catch somebody red-handed?

01:16:35 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 7:

Actually, I did. I used to work at Great Lakes Crossing at Wilson's Leather, and somebody was walking out with a $700 jacket, and I saw the security tag and peeled it right off their back. Peeled it off their back?

01:16:47 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 4:

You know, they say that this stuff, you know, was a big deal where a lot of people were going into places and just grabbing fistful of stuff. I always wondered if that happened in front of me, would I stop them? You stopped them. That's amazing.

01:16:59 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely.

01:17:00 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 4:

Man. Rob, do you feel like, you know, what, you want to do it right or what are you the type of guy that gets involved?

01:17:08 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 7:

I could tell that I watched him walk up to the rack and just grab it and throw it on, and I'm like just kind of sitting there watching him because I was the only guy that worked there.

01:17:18 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:17:18 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 7:

And my boss kind of like gave me a look like this isn't the first time this happened. I'm like, okay, I'll put a stop to it.

01:17:24 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 4:

Wait, it's funny because I've heard stories where that happens and the guy gets fired for doing that because they have a company policy telling them not to do it.

01:17:31 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy.

01:17:32 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 5:

The next week I had to left a company. Pretty much every retail store.

01:17:38 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. The next week you got yourself a raise, I would think. What's up, Ava? Hi.

01:17:47 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you, Mojo?

01:17:49 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 4:

I'm doing okay. What's going on?

01:17:51 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

So I have a great story for you. I had, my husband had a best friend who was a little shady sometimes, and I was out to lunch with my girlfriend, came home. He didn't know I was supposed to be home, and I looked through the little window in my front door, and I could see him rummaging through my closet from, like, one shot. It was like a ranch home that we were in. and I could see him going through, so I kick the door open, and I run in, and I'm like, what are you doing here? And he crouches into my closet like I can't see him, and he just sits there, and I yell, what are you doing here? And he just goes, nothing. And I grabbed all my stuff, and I said, get out of here. And I got him out of my house, and he's like, I don't know what's wrong with me. You've got to call the police. There's something wrong with me. I don't know. And I was like, you know what? I am going to call the police. And he goes, I said, no, I'm going to call my husband first. He goes, no, no, no, no, no. Please don't call your husband.

01:18:48 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 4:

He wanted to get locked up so that your husband didn't beat his ass. And this was your husband's best buddy. That's amazing.

01:18:54 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 1:

It was, yeah, his best friend. Yep. Not anymore.

01:18:58 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 4:

God.

01:18:59 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Watch your people, guys.

01:19:02 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 4:

Amazing. I think that's wild. Your husband must be a big man if he's saying, put me in jail. uh hannah what's up how you doing i'm good how are you guys good we're telling a story about how somebody tried to rob our prize closet here at the station what's up yeah so i work in a dental

01:19:24 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 2:

office and we have to use a curing light to cure fillings and make them hold and we had a patient actually steal the curing light what the hell are you gonna do with that from our off your nails Yeah, the only thing I could think of was the nails. You're absolutely right. But, yeah, just so weird. Such a weird thing.

01:19:42 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 4:

That is kind of a wild thing to be. Super random. I'd be taking nitrous, man. Give me a tank of that, Dr. DePilla. What's going on, Nick? Hi.

01:19:51 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Mojo? First time long. Hey, Nick's on the phone.

01:19:55 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 4:

I would hit my horn, but my horn got stolen by that guy. No, I'm just kidding. Can you imagine if they take our sound box? What would you do? I would tell Brandon, go to his house and get it back. Go ahead, Nick. I'm sorry.

01:20:09 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so this is crazy. So back in the day when before online gambling was big and they had poker stars, I was checking my bank account, and I looked, and there's charges for poker stars on there. And I'm like, I ain't played poker in, like, a year. So come to find out, my best friend had stole my debit card number and used it to gamble online with it.

01:20:33 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 4:

That bastard. Man. Did you confront him?

01:20:36 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 2:

I sure did. He had actually got it. I was paying my phone bill or my insurance bill over the phone, and he wrote down my numbers.

01:20:47 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 7:

That is insanity.

01:20:50 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was pretty crazy. And this was kind of like when debit cards first came around. And, yeah, it was pretty crazy.

01:20:56 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 4:

The worst part is if it's a complete stranger stealing from you, okay, you know, okay, whatever. But if it's your friends. Family members. Family members. That's nuts. And here's the thing with this guy taking the price. If that guy would have asked, hey, do you guys have any extras? I guarantee you that the way that our people here, Crystal and Cody are, they would have said, yeah, here you go. And given them something. You know, but here's the thing. The crime of stealing, what did Brandon say, almost $10,000? Crime of stealing over $10,000 or the crime of taking a $50 or $100 gift card? There's a difference there. That's a big difference.

01:21:36 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 5:

Probably wasn't the first time either.

01:21:37 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 4:

Wonder, right? Really? I'm speaking of that. I'm looking around here right now. All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. We were having an in-studio discussion, and we were talking about jingles. And the jingles on TV commercials or radio commercials. And it is so funny. Whenever there's a jingle that runs on the end of a commercial, some commercials have jingles that are, like, really good. And then some commercials are, like, cheesy as hell.

01:22:15 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 7:

Well, we started talking about it because of all the top dog law. Like, they don't necessarily have a jingle, but you know it's a Top Dog Law commercial. Top Dog Law! Right.

01:22:24 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 4:

Like if that guy that voices the Top Dog, if Top Dog ever is sick and he can't do his commercials, they better just run the old ones. Yeah. Because they can't change their commercial guy. Can't duplicate that. But we were discussing the commercials, and we started coming up with a list of the best commercials or jingles. And what was the ones?

01:22:43 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 5:

I think it's got to be Top 5, and it's not 5. But the Empire, the 800-580-2-300-Empire-today.

01:22:53 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 6:

That is a classic. It's a classic, but it's not.

01:22:57 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 1:

800-580-2-300-Empire-today. This isn't top five.

01:23:03 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 6:

No, because that rolls right into a hearing aid commercial that you would hear when you were homesick for school in the middle of the day. When you were in the commercial break of The Price is Right. We got to talk about the best. And the best of the best is I am stuck on Band-Aid brand.

01:23:17 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 7:

Because Band-Aid's stuck on me. That doesn't count.

01:23:21 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 6:

I am stuck on Band-Aid brand because Band-Aid's stuck on me. Makes you happy.

01:23:26 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 4:

That is a good one. Makes you happy. The stuck on Band-Aid one is definitely a good commercial.

01:23:33 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 1:

I am stuck on Band-Aid brand because Band-Aid's stuck on me. I am stuck on Band-Aid brand because Jerns wants to come on me.

01:23:42 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Introducing Band-Aid brand antibiotic bandages with doctor-recommended antibiotic right on the pad. Shut up!

01:23:51 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 4:

No, those are good ones. That's a good one. I still think that one of the best jingles ever was locally in the Detroit area, and I don't know if it was played anywhere else, but the Hanson windows once.

01:24:02 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that was in the late hour room.

01:24:03 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it was called, it was The 1-800-HANSONS Get it done. You know the one.

01:24:11 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 3:

Call 1-800-HANSEN's. Get it done. Turn the windows, doors, and shut your food inside. Come on, everybody. Get it done. You know the one. Call 1-800-HANSEN's.

01:24:25 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 7:

Get it done. You know what my kids sing all the time, just randomly, is Liberty, Liberty, Liberty. Oh, my God. That's a great one. Liberty, Liberty. I love it. And do you guys remember what this one was from? This is a blast from the past. 10 million strong And growing

01:24:42 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

01:24:43 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 4:

No Hold on, hold on

01:24:44 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 7:

Flintstones vitamins Yeah

01:24:46 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I forgot about those Flintstones vitamins I didn't know they had commercials Oh my God, hold on a second Hold on Look who Lydia put on the phone We know and love hers Summit plays key Oh, great

01:24:59 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 1:

Tanya What's up, Tanya Lalonde?

01:25:02 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Good morning, Milo.

01:25:05 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 1:

We are talking about the best radio jingles or television jingles of commercials, and they are some of the best ones that you guys have. You should be driving to Kia from Summit Place Kia, Summit Place Kia. Everybody knows that one. How are you?

01:25:21 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm so honored to be in the queue.

01:25:25 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

You know what?

01:25:26 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm fantastic this morning, Mojo. There's nothing better than waking up with you guys.

01:25:29 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm going to tell you something, Tanya. That is, you can never get rid of that one. Whatever you got to do, you got to keep that thing around. Although I will be honest with you. You might want to see if you can get the voice guy from Top Dog Law to do it. Could we put something like that together? Could we have a remix of all these commercials? That sounds like a challenge right there. It would be like We Are the World.

01:25:54 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 3:

Yes, let's do it. But instead of doing it to the tune of We Are the World, We need to do the Friday remix. The Friday remix of it. And we need to throw them all into the Friday remix.

01:26:04 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Tanya, I love you so much. Thank you for picking up our phone call today.

01:26:08 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 5:

No, I love you guys more. And I'll never not take your phone call, so keep calling me. You're the best.

01:26:13 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 1:

We'll talk to you soon. And you guys can keep singing my jingle. You should be driving the Kia from Summit Plays Kia. Summit Plays Kia. Oh, my God. Summit Plays Kia. Hold on. Hold on. Joe's got one here, too, for us. Joe, what is yours? What's your favorite jingle?

01:26:27 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 2:

oh my god that is the best one

01:26:40 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 1:

the absolute by the way that's a classic is that even still around do people eat bologna right now

01:26:49 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 4:

I do, all the time. Are you serious? Did you give me a pack of bologna on a sad day? Turn that bad boy around. Oh boy, you roll it up in a big tube.

01:26:59 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 3:

Another one. It's O-S-C-A-R. A bologna has a second name. It's M-A-Y-E-R. We love to eat it every day. And if you ask us why, we'll say it. Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener.

01:27:16 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 1:

That was a hot dog one, right? Hey, what's up, Jen? How you doing? Jen, what's going on? How are you?

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 2:

01:27:35 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

01:27:36 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 1:

01:27:40 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 2:

01:27:43 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's so good.

01:28:19 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 2:

That gets stuck in your head, and it's there all day long.

01:28:23 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 1:

And Megan's right. That one, back-to-back with the Empire Carpet commercials. And as a kid, you're like, what the hell? That was my daytime television right there. Oh, that's so good. I'm waiting for somebody to call with the one on my mind, man. Somebody has to call.

01:28:37 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 3:

01:28:46 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

01:28:51 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

01:29:17 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes, you do. Come on, Mojo, pull it up. You've been pulling up everybody's. And a pancake. Hello, mother. Hello, mother. Hello, mother. Yeah, that's it. Yes. Yes. I am writing.

01:29:54 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness.

01:29:54 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 2:

It was so nice to little gold retriever puppies singing it.

01:29:57 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 1:

Da-da-da-da. Da-da-da. It's the instrumental version. Lisa and Mara of those canine agantics. Yeah. The funny thing is that everybody's calling up with all these commercials, yet you guys leave us when we play commercials. What is the reasoning of this? What's going on? Hi. How you doing, Amber? Hi. First time caller, long time listener. Hold on. We need a jingle for that. First time caller, long time listener. What's going on? How are you? Not much. I'm good. Austin and Abraham on the phone. What's your commercials? O-O-O-O-Reilly Auto Parts. O-O-O-O-Reilly Auto Parts. And I always feel like it's a poop at the end. Like right there at the end of that thing. That is the best. Yeah, like womp. Womp, womp. Hey, you guys have a great day, guys, at school. Thank you. Tell your mom, I said, go through the drive-thru of McDonald's and be a little late today. Maybe next time. Take care of yourself. All right, this was fun. All right. WKQI Detroit. 01:32:53 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Remember that awkward one with the siblings that were kind of messing around with us kids? There's a thousand hours for miles and miles for me to play with. Here are ones that we did not get to. Those aren't open anymore. Are they still open? West Grand Boulevard. Yeah. Put on that fur, baby. Let's get some Dietrich Furs.

01:35:00 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 3:

Greg Furns, the lady on the white horse running down Woodward. All right, I got to move on. This is just stupid stuff.

01:35:09 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 2:

I love this. It's been a really fun time.

01:35:10 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 3:

Tasha, should I move on, Tasha?

01:35:12 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Hold on.

01:35:14 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 1:

One more before you guys move on because you did not do this one, and I know you guys remember.

01:35:19 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:35:21 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 1:

My buddy. My buddy. Wherever he goes, I go.

01:35:27 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 2:

Kid sister. Kid sister. Kid sister.

01:35:29 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 1:

That's a great one. He goes, my buddy, my buddy, my buddy, my buddy, my buddy. I'll teach him everything that I know, my buddy. I'm a sister with a pink overall. All right.

01:35:44 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh! Tasha.

01:35:46 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 1:

Every kiss begins with L. Oh, my gosh!

01:35:50 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 2:

What are you doing to me? But then as Mojo says, every lay begins with L for Lucido.

01:35:56 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. All right, we're done. Keep going. Keep going.

01:36:01 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 2:

The ocean white is on your side. Mojo's. He's so annoying. Keep going. Keep going. It's Stanley's in my head. Keep me.

01:36:11 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to go home. Keep going. Keep going. Do another one. Do another one. Oh, this is either way.

01:36:18 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

Like a rock. Oh, like a rock. Oh, my God.

01:36:24 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 1:

You viewed my snap. You read my text. No callback? Second date update is coming up at 820 on Bojo in the morning.

01:36:33 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

Give me a break. Give me a break.

01:36:38 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 3:

What's that burger came with? Yeah. You want that? You know what this does to me? This gives me anxiety, Lydia. If you ever schedule another one of Kev's topics ever again, I'm going to jump. I'm going to jump right here.

01:36:56 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 1:

Whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper, junior, double, triple whopper, plain grill taste with perfect toppers. I do this day.

01:37:10 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 3:

F-E-K. Have it your way. You rule. Let's go. I've just got done listening to all of Blaine and Lauren's show right now because that's where I'm going right now on my radio dial. I'm turning over there. I'll see you guys later. This is good radio. I don't care what they're talking about. I'm listening to them right now. All right. It's a mojo in the morning show home of the war of the roses, the second date update, the dirty on the 30. You know, this is actually something that is funny because my sister is like this. My sister, Pat, and my sister, Tracy, both have met so many celebrities in their life only to know they were celebrities well after they met them. I will never forget, and I'll tell you my story in a second, Megan, to go along with yours. But I will never forget when my sister Tracy said, I got this girl's phone number, and it turned out to be a big celebrity's phone number. But go ahead. Tell your story where you meet a celebrity and you don't even realize they're a celebrity.

01:38:08 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 2:

So I live in downtown Detroit, and there is a Dunkin' near my apartment. I had stopped in there for some afternoon coffee because I needed to pick me up. And as I was in there, I'm standing next to this guy who right off the bat was 8 million feet tall. So, like, my radar went off a little bit just to be like, that's a tall man. Why is it whenever you see a tall person, you want to be like, I tell you, I tell you. And the whole time I'm like, leave this poor man alone. Just leave him alone. Don't say anything. Just live about your day and go on with life. And I'm standing there and I'm waiting for my coffee. and this family walks up to him and was like oh my god oh my god can we get a picture with you we are so excited to see you we're going to the game and i immediately went oh he's a pistons player oh really is 8 000 feet tall they're going to the game can we get a picture this man is a famous athlete and i have i am sorry to this man but i do not know who he is why is it then whenever

01:39:08 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

I see anybody that is over 6'6 and African American, I automatically assume. Racist. I don't know what it is. I'm profiling them. I'm like, how do you know this guy? What team does he play for? I did not go right to basketball. Or 7' tall white European. Then I go, is this guy Dirk Nowitzki or something like that? So who was he? I have no idea.

01:39:35 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 2:

You have no clue. I didn't know he's an athlete because we said, we're going to the game. Can I get a picture? And I went, you must be famous.

01:39:43 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you could probably get a free meal if you're just a big dude, you know, and just say you're somebody if you're, you know. Man, we just didn't say anything. You got to sneak a picture of him in that moment. Yeah, you got to. Who was this? Put it in Google. Like, you know, put his face in Google and see if it comes out. I never thought about doing that.

01:40:00 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 5:

that my my sisters uh tracy and pat they they went to hawaii together and they were at a luau okay in hawaii with their with uh tracy's family and they're all sitting at the luau the entire time next to this guy and this girl that they both said were the most beautiful people ever and they were so nice and they were playing with my nieces and everything was really good and my sister got the the woman's phone number because they were saying hey we're going to be here for a while on on the island we should all hang out with each other they really enjoyed each other and she says oh this is really kind of interesting she had a really unusual name that i never really saw very much so she's like oh this is kind of cool and uh she calls up and tells us a story about how she sat next to fergie and josh duo stop and they were there at in a luau and the girl's name was fergie and she's got fergie's phone number wow my sister has fergie's phone number from the from doing this thing but didn't know who she was had no clue who the hell she was she thought she was just this really unbelievably attractive woman from california and she's like this is something and then the guy she thought this guy is so good looking like he should be in movies he watched me on the flight over but can i be honest with you megan with the guys downtown like if i if i were by any of the arenas and i saw somebody that looked physically fit athletic i'd think they were a hockey player a baseball player or basketball player i would not

01:41:25 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 3:

know any athlete no none none unless you got your uniform on yeah i'm not no did you have like some

01:41:32 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 5:

band that was also like you walked your dog and there was like some band playing at little

01:41:36 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

jack harlow no i but i knew it was jack harlow i just looked homeless and his security surrounded him because they thought i was gonna approach him asking for money and i was like i'm just going to Jim I know I'm a mess with greasy hair rude my rent is expensive um no but oh I guess I got I have two more so I brought this up with my brother and his girlfriend and she was like oh I took a picture with somebody but I don't know who he is and it turns out she had met uh Darren McCarty recently and had no idea who he was but everybody was asking him for a photo and she was like well I must I must do that as well and then she showed it to us and she goes do you know who this is I I was like, that's Darren McCarty.

01:42:14 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 5:

Fair enough, though. Isn't she from Ohio or is she from the Detroit area?

01:42:18 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 2:

No, she's from Downriver.

01:42:19 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she's from Downriver? She's from Plow Rock. She's Downriver and she doesn't know Darren McCarty? No. That's like a sacrilege. We love her. She's very pretty. That's like being a Catholic and not knowing Jesus, for God's sakes.

01:42:28 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 2:

She's very, very pretty. But I was in Hawaii on vacation, and to this day, this is so funny. I was talking about it last night with my brother. We went to Benihana's in Hawaii. Don't ask me why we thought it would be funny. We went to a lot of high-end places and we were like, let's do Benihana's tonight. And they had closed off a section of Benihana's and I could not tell you who it was, but there was absolutely a very famous K-pop group there that they shut down half of the restaurant for. Oh, see, I wouldn't know K-pop. Neither would I.

01:42:56 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 5:

We should do this.

01:42:57 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 2:

But they were all dressed in like...

01:42:58 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 5:

I got a bit.

01:42:59 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead. They were all dressed like what?

01:43:01 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 5:

Brave list.

01:43:02 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 2:

Like just super similarly.

01:43:03 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 5:

We should get a bunch of Asian guys or Asian girls, get them all dressed the same way and go into P.F. Chang's at the mall and we should walk in there and we say we're with and we make up a K-pop group. What do you think?

01:43:23 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 1:

It could be Kroger.

01:43:24 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 5:

Okay, it doesn't have to be P.F. Chang's.

01:43:27 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 1:

It could be J. Alexander's. It could be, yes. All right. Megan talking like, wait, I got an idea. No, Megan, you go, but as soon as you start, I'm going to go again. Let's get a bunch of Asian dudes. Now, okay, I think we can do this thing.

01:43:41 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 5:

Remember when we did Partial Mathers with the guy who looked like Marshall Mathers?

01:43:47 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, and Lion Gosselin.

01:43:48 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 5:

But Partial Mathers, we went into Coney's with him, and we ended up getting, it was amazing. That was an unbelievable bit. I got bits here. I got bits going on like crazy. What other celebrities have you met that you didn't know? What's up, Kate? How you doing?

01:44:05 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

01:44:06 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 5:

Good. were talking about meeting celebrities and didn't know who they were yeah so i kind of have the

01:44:11 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 4:

opposite story here so at my wedding uh one of my guest boyfriends was a seven foot man all right and a little bit of backstory is my i went to school with somebody who was in the nfl and so i invited him to the wedding but he couldn't come so my entire dad's side of the family assumed that the seven foot man was this athlete and we're interrogating him after the ceremony and then at the reception they were interrogating me like i'm trying to go around and talk to all of the guests and they're like who is he like he has to be an athlete and i'm telling them no he's not like he's just a guest like he is no he's not famous he's nobody and i come to find out the end of the night that they took so many pictures with him like i have pictures of my little grandma with this man

01:44:52 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

because she thought he was some famous athlete isn't that the best that to me is unbelievable i I love it.

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 3:

By the way, if I was seven foot tall, I would just pretend I was somebody. Melissa, what's going on?

01:45:07 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you guys?

01:45:09 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 3:

Good, what's up?

01:45:11 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

So this is at the end of January. I went to Vegas with my sister, and we were in the hotel lobby trying to get her checked in. And she sees this guy just standing there in the hotel lobby getting checked in, and he's checked out in all Raiders gear. My sister is an obnoxious Raiders fan. and so she like looks at him and she's like hey you're you're that famous football player but we couldn't think of his name my 10 year old nephew is my 10 year old nephew standing next to me he goes hey you're marshawn lynch i'm like how does my 10 year old nephew that's because of fantasy football or something like that that's great yeah that's what am i walking around in raiders gear

01:45:51 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 3:

Nah.

01:45:52 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, he wasn't. Yeah, I don't think he plays for the Raiders anymore. I'm pretty sure he's retired now. Is he retired?

01:45:58 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Quick question for you. Do you think any of the players, like, do you think that Jared Goff wears lion stuff outside of practice field and stuff like that? No.

01:46:07 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 1:

It would be like us wearing, on a much smaller scale, by the way, a mojo in the morning gear anywhere. Some people do.

01:46:14 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 2:

I bet you if he got to run out the house real quick, he'd just throw in a little lion's hoodie.

01:46:19 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 3:

Do you think so? Or, no, I bet he's got, like, a Tiger's hat or something like that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? He's got some Detroit stuff on. What's up, Kayla? Hi.

01:46:29 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Good morning, guys.

01:46:30 - 01:46:32 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:46:33 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so when I was working at Walgreens, I was ringing up this couple, and the man was just standoffish. I was like, oh, he's weird or whatever. And the lady was just talking. So my coworker walks up and was like, oh, my God, I love him. I was like, oh, they must know each other. It makes sense because my coworker was weird. So when he left out the store, he was like, you didn't know who that was? I was like, no. He was like, that's Matthew Stafford. The freaking.

01:47:07 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? It was Matthew and Kelly?

01:47:12 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 1:

He probably wasn't standoffish. I think he's very quiet. Yeah. That's his personality.

01:47:18 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 3:

That's funny, though. Yeah.

01:47:19 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But her co-worker is weird. Right? No denying.

01:47:26 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 3:

We all know that. Thank you for the call. Oh, my God. Shakira met Floyd Mayweather and didn't know it was Floyd Mayweather. Was it in West Michigan? Because he was probably home visiting family.

01:47:38 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. First time, long time. Hey, there. Yes. Yes. Yes, so I was in Grand Rapids, and we were at a little spot where they sold chicken gizzards. That's why I was there. And I was in line. Yes, I was in line, and then a group of, like, three men came in behind me, and I had my little backpack purse on, and I just felt someone touch my backpack. And I turned around, and I'm like, hello. You know, hello. You know, it's like, how you doing? you know and he was normal and i turned around and placed my order and when i walked out you know my friend was like you know who that was and it was it was boy mayweather money may i did not know

01:48:23 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

he had family in grand rapids yeah he grew up yeah and you know he's one of like the wealthiest athletes of all time like literally like lebron status money wise i thought he mc hammered it

01:48:34 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 2:

I want to say he just bought 60 residential properties in New York.

01:48:40 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 3:

Somebody says he owns the most crypto of anybody.

01:48:44 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 1:

Mike Tyson MC hammered it.

01:48:46 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mike Tyson. He's back now.

01:48:48 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but he spent it all.

01:48:50 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 3:

Gosh, that's amazing. These stories, by the way, are so cool to hear. Allison, who did you run into in Vegas?

01:48:59 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 5:

I ran into Guy Fieri.

01:49:02 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 3:

The chef. It's funny. that's one of those guys you know who he is because no other person has a hairdo like that

01:49:08 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 5:

guy right i know well i had a few to drink at the time so i walk into this bar and i guess he was waiting for his food to come up next door and he wanted to have a shot with his friends while he was waiting and i walk in i bump right into him and i said i know you and i just looked at him And he, like, looked at me, and I kept trying to think, who is this guy? How do I know him? And he was laughing, and he ended up buying a whole round of tequila shots for the bar.

01:49:42 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's cool. That's really nice. It's his restaurant probably, right?

01:49:46 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 5:

No, it was just a random dive bar. Okay. Actually, the owner was from Michigan, and they would show all the Michigan games. So we would go there every week, me and my son's dad. And, yeah, he just happened to be.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 4:

in there that's cool but would you say that he took you to flavor town

01:50:04 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

oh that's funny when i was in vegas with johnny dare one time one of the funniest things was johnny dare our good buddy uh who we talked to before on the air is the best morning radio guy in the world and from kansas city there were all these girls walking by and johnny's calling out their names and i'm like how does he know all these girls it was the porn convention oh my god The guy knew the names of every single celebrity. I'm, like, looking, going, I would have no clue. I mean, listen, you know, you watch it, but you don't ever know their names. That's disrespectful. He knew every single one of them. But he knew every, literally, he's like, there's Farrah Abraham. There's, you know, he's, like, going back and forth.

01:50:45 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, not Farrah Abraham being the first thing. Why did she get a mention on her show?

01:50:52 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 2:

That's the only one I know.

01:50:52 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. She was a teen mom on MTV.

01:50:56 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 2:

That was, that's the only one I know. Or what's her name? What's the one?

01:51:01 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 4:

Mia Khalifa.

01:51:01 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 2:

Mia Khalifa. Mike's next wife. When Mike and Allie should ever break up, Mike's going to marry. Let's not forget Stormy Day.

01:51:10 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 4:

Allie's birthday today. Don't do that to her.

01:51:12 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 2:

Is it Allie's birthday? Happy birthday, Allie. We love you, Allie.

01:51:17 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 1:

Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. Am I the a-hole? Or the throwback throwdown?

01:51:26 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to do the second date update. If you are not getting a call back after you went on a date, text DATE to 95500.

01:51:35 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:51:38 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 2:

So what's going on? Why are you not getting a call back? Imani wants to know. Imani, what's happening?

01:51:44 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning.

01:51:46 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. I like that you're so upbeat this morning, even though you're not getting a call back.

01:51:53 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. This is crazy. Okay, so I met this guy at the gym. We went to this really nice upscale spot, the shop house. Okay. And, like, the date was amazing. It was so freaking awesome. I mean, he even paid for my dinner, which he should. But, like, I mean, come out of this question.

01:52:16 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so, okay, so you guys had such a good date with each other and everything went well, but he's not calling you back. How did the date end? like something had to happen that made you go this is not good i mean like honestly it was

01:52:32 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 4:

beautiful like he he kissed me we were gonna let go and like do another workout at the gym like

01:52:39 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 2:

wait so you're so you guys actually were gonna make and you made another date to get together and then yeah but he's not now calling you back and you're wondering what the story is We're going to find out what's going on with the second date update right now on the Mojo in the Morning show. What's there? Aaron is on the phone. Aaron. Aaron, are you there? Hey. What's happening? Hey. How are you? How are you doing? This is Mojo and Shannon, Megan, Kev.

01:53:12 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Aaron.

01:53:13 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 2:

We want to know if you're cool with being on the radio. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Will you say hello to Imani, please? Hey.

01:53:27 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 4:

Hi. How are you? I mean, it's nice to get you on the phone. I've been trying to get you. Like, we had such a good time at the top house. What happened?

01:53:37 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 2:

Imani is wanting to know what's going on and why you're not calling her back, Aaron.

01:53:45 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

We just, I think we just kind of have different values there.

01:53:50 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 2:

different values that yeah your values uh came up during the date um well we just kind of think

01:54:00 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 3:

differently in regards to first dates how so i i think you know on your first date you kind of need to split especially depending on the bill

01:54:14 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 2:

you need to so she said that you paid for it and she was very happy it sounded like that you paid for it but you're saying that you were wanting her to actually chip in on the date yeah did you

01:54:28 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 3:

make that known well i i just kind of thought we had the understanding that we we were kind of on the same page especially after we met we kind of hit it off at the gym and everything but She kind of is a little different than I thought she would be.

01:54:46 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 1:

Simply because she wouldn't split the bill, or were there other things?

01:54:51 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there were other things that happened that kind of just proved my point.

01:54:55 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 2:

What? What are those before we get into this?

01:55:00 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you've been to the chop house, and it's pretty, it's not pricey, pricey, but it's a little on up there. All of a sudden, you know, I thought we were going to share the cheese plate, but then she ordered shrimp. Then she started ordering something else, and then a couple of things. I was just a little surprised that she ordered so much on just the first date. Yeah.

01:55:27 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 7:

All right, so hold on. So, Imani, Imani, the energy level just came down on Imani on this one here. She's like 110 miles an hour. Now we don't hear from her at all. Imani, let's.

01:55:40 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm not a lot to words.

01:55:42 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 7:

I'm so sorry. Let's tackle the, when the bill came, did you offer to put money down?

01:55:52 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 2:

No. I mean, my parents raised me to let the man take care of me. Like, it's a man. I'm so sorry. This is.

01:56:01 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 5:

Did you did you guys talk at any point about splitting the bill or was that just an assumption? Because I feel like there was not a conversation about that. That, Aaron, you just assumed that the bill would be split.

01:56:14 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't. Yeah.

01:56:16 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 5:

Because if you made that assumption, if you made that assumption and she didn't she wasn't aware, I kind of see her side of like, OK, you can't knock me for that. Now, the fact that she was ordering an exorbitant amount of appetizers, that is not cool.

01:56:34 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 4:

But who set up the date?

01:56:37 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 7:

Did you ask her out or did Imani, did you set the date up? No, I asked her.

01:56:43 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 1:

I asked her.

01:56:43 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 4:

And you chose the restaurant?

01:56:46 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So you paid. That's on you, dude. Always a standard place.

01:56:52 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 4:

It would be one thing if she said, hey, I'd like you to take me to this. like high-end restaurant and then she ordered a million things but if you said hey i'd like to take you here i'm sorry if i'm going on a date especially no high-end place i get more than one appetizer like i i do think this is on you you would order more than one appetizer i would

01:57:10 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 7:

i think that the guy i think that the guy probably should be paying for the date i'm old-fashioned like that too i don't think that's old-fashioned i just think that that's just commonplace but i but i will say this if i think that somebody's paying for the bill i ain't ordering putting my

01:57:25 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

feedback on i agree with you i always offer to pay or split on a first date too because it's not my expectation for you to pay especially on a first date that might not be going great but i'm also not going to high-end places all the time and i know the food normally is pretty good i'm

01:57:42 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 7:

gonna try a little bit of everything i know that i'm spending money uh i i would say this imani that uh you went into this right off the bat saying and i'm expecting him to pay or whatever your comment was he said you your intentions definitely were that you were gonna have a great night and everything was so great that you were wondering what the hell is happening uh and now you found out your answer uh lauren what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hello good morning guys Good morning. What's going on?

01:58:15 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 2:

I was just, yeah, he keeps complaining about the bill, and he should have been prepared if he's the one that wanted to take her there.

01:58:23 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Well, that's the thing. If you pick the restaurant and that's the restaurant and you're the person that sets the date up, the assumption is you're paying for it. You can't complain about how expensive it's going to be. But with that said, she also probably shouldn't have been ordering a bunch of that stuff. Do you think, Lauren?

01:58:42 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't have that big of an appetite, but that's just me personally.

01:58:46 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 7:

I kind of like girls with big appetites. I'll be honest with you.

01:58:50 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 2:

You like Big Macs?

01:58:51 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 7:

I know. I like you to eat. You must not. I want to have options, too.

01:58:55 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 4:

I know it's not. That's really mean. Also, when you go to, like, a fancy place, like, when I went somewhere the other day and we got oysters, right? I love oysters. A dozen or a half. Well, that's my point, is you can get small apps places. You can get the shrimp cocktail and get small versions of it versus large versions of it. Why are you looking at me like you've never been to a restaurant that has different options?

01:59:20 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 6:

Who did you go get oysters with? Don't worry about it. Mark this down. Next topic.

01:59:25 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 7:

Like, here's the deal. Here's the deal. If you go out on a date, you aren't ordering the seafood tower. You know what I mean? That's going to cost you an arm and a leg.

01:59:33 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 3:

Why not?

01:59:33 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 7:

I don't know.

01:59:35 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 3:

It's about that. Why not? It's the experience. First off. $300. That's so weird to me. You don't order anything.

01:59:41 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 4:

No, no, hold on. If we are a girl and we go out and order a salad, you're like, you're not showing me the real you. And then I go out and I go, we're somewhere nice and I want to enjoy this experience and try a few things. It's you fatty, stop ordering. No, no, no. There's no fatting.

01:59:54 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 6:

Ordering a filet, which is what I would probably order in this situation at the chop house, is very.

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 3:

entirely different than ordering the seafood tower and a bottle of champagne.

02:00:04 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 1:

Anything that says market price and not a price, then you know it's going to be expensive. You've got to earn it. You've got to earn it. There's no winning. Jordan, what's going on? Your thoughts?

02:00:15 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. How are you doing? I'm pretty sure we've all established whoever asks to go out on the date is the one that pays for it.

02:00:21 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:00:22 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 4:

Your father did teach you that a man is supposed to take care of you, but I don't think he taught you that you're supposed to take advantage of the man.

02:00:30 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 1:

I think that's fair. I agree with you. I think that it becomes taken advantage of when you're ordering a ton of stuff. But with that said, I think that her intention with this date the entire time, because you heard her say this when I first picked her up, was that she was going out on this guy's dime. And I think that was her intention the entire time.

02:00:54 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 3:

How was that her intention when he set it up and suggested it?

02:00:57 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 1:

But she said that to us when she's describing, before we even picked him up, that was her, she's like, yeah, he paid for the date, and that's how I want it. Like, she actually said that in the beginning. I didn't ask her anything about who paid or did any of that stuff. So I think that her intention was she was getting herself a big meal.

02:01:14 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 3:

But he could have said, let's go to Red Robin. He chose Chop House.

02:01:19 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 1:

What's that, Imani? What were you going to say?

02:01:22 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 6:

Did she choose Chop House, or did you choose Chop House? Hold on, hold on.

02:01:26 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 1:

And that's Shayla. Shayla, I just picked her up. Shayla, I didn't even say hi to you yet. You're jumping in. You're fired up on this one. Shayla, what did you want to say to Imani?

02:01:38 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 6:

So my first question is, did you, the guy, choose the restaurant?

02:01:42 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 1:

He already said that. Yeah. He did.

02:01:45 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 6:

He did? Yes. Okay. So the issue is that you chose an upscale restaurant. The issue is with her is that she sat there and seen no problem with ordering all that stuff. Yes. Even if she did see a problem internally, she just chose to do it because she thought that you could pay for it. But as a man, I would have stepped up and said, hey, love, seriously, you really think I'm balling like this? Seriously.

02:02:09 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 1:

You would look horrible, though. A guy did that, he would look like a cheap ass. She would be in the group check going crazy.

02:02:18 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 6:

Then don't pick it.

02:02:21 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 3:

I also don't think you're picking it thinking that she's going to order $500 worth of money. When she did it, she ordered two appetizers. Two appetizers is what we're arguing over at a restaurant where the main course is $100. How is this her fault?

02:02:36 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 1:

How much was the bill, Aaron?

02:02:38 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 2:

How much was the entire bill? Way more than two. It was more than $2. We were reaching like $200, just about. Easily.

02:02:48 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 3:

Easy. Okay, but you chose a restaurant that that's easy to do.

02:02:53 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 2:

But it's a little different. I would have been perfectly okay if she would have offered to split it for me. Like, I have no problem paying for the bill, but she's just not classy. She's not classy at all.

02:03:06 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. At least the offer is what he's saying. Eric, what do you think? Eric?

02:03:10 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 5:

I have a question. Yes. This is very important. Please. With all the food that was ordered from Imani, were there a lot of leftovers? because if there were leftovers, then that tells me she was just racking up the bill to see exactly what...

02:03:28 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 1:

What's the story? How much as far as leftovers, guys? Zero.

02:03:33 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 2:

She ate everything.

02:03:34 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 3:

You just don't like her because she's eating a lot.

02:03:39 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 5:

I ordered the salad and then just ate the side salad and there you go. I mean, she showed you who she is. I mean, that's a bonus, right?

02:03:46 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 1:

I kind of like it.

02:03:47 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 5:

I'm a woman that can eat the cheeseburger.

02:03:48 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm kind of turned on by her, aren't you, Eric? I think this is great.

02:03:52 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 5:

My wife is like, the car that impresses her is the food truck. And you know what? I love it.

02:03:59 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay. She's got food trucks. I feel bad laughing at that, but that's very funny. That's fantastic.

02:04:04 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 1:

All right. Second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

02:04:07 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback throwdown. Second date update. And more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:04:15 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 1:

All right.

02:04:16 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 3:

You guys, this show's been stellar. I just want to hit.

02:04:19 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm going to have an aneurysm during this particular dirty right now. What's going on? No, we're going to give away right now tickets to see The Weeknd at Ford Field. Your chance to see The Weeknd at Ford Field, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. This has been a good show. I don't know about you guys, but it's been over an hour since we've done a commercial break, and I still got more to come and no commercials coming up, except for Kevin's jingles that he wants to hear.

02:04:49 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:04:53 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon.

02:04:54 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 3:

The Quiznos subs.

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

They are good, too. I don't remember the Quiznos. You remember Quiznos? I don't either.

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 4:

I remember the actual restaurant. They were the first ones to heat up their subs, right, and do hot subs.

02:05:06 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 2:

Jersey Mike's so much better.

02:05:07 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I found a Jersey Mike's that we could get a delivery from. Really? I think that the Gross Point one will deliver to us here. Let's do it. All right. We were looking. Kevin and I were like, we're going to open a Jersey Mike's in downtown Detroit because there's nothing down here from Jersey Mike's.

02:05:20 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 2:

You know, that's my brother-in-law's family business.

02:05:22 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 4:

You tell your brother-in-law we need Jersey Mike's downtown here.

02:05:26 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, open one.

02:05:27 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:05:27 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so Diddy's phone call to Kanye from jail. This six and a half, seven minute phone call was posted on Monday by the Shade Room. I don't know who leaked it. I just know they posted it. But I guess Diddy and Ye, they are in touch because Diddy's kids are in touch with Kanye. And so Diddy thought in getting in touch with Kanye, he could get some messages. Anyway, a source claims that Diddy thought he was just having a friendly phone call with Kanye to check on his kids. He did not realize his call was going to be leaked for all of us to hear.

02:06:02 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 3:

You know, you're real from the front line. You know what I'm saying? It's wicked, wicked, wicked.

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Unknown:

So you be careful.

02:06:08 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You can't do nothing.

02:06:09 - 02:06:12 | Unknown:

It's this day. You know what I'm saying?

02:06:13 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 3:

I need you out there. You feel me?

02:06:14 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:06:15 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Man, jump into your back. We're going to have 20 years and decades to fight these motherfuckers.

02:06:20 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 2:

Right now, enjoy your life. So the story this morning is he's not very happy that this call was leaked. Also, you could have seven-minute phone calls in prison. That's what I thought of. You pay by the minute?

02:06:32 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 4:

Why do I picture that it's on a pay phone in the hallway, like in movies?

02:06:37 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 3:

No, it's J-something. J-pay. J-pay?

02:06:40 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 4:

Is that what it is?

02:06:41 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Connection was very clear. Did he thank Kanye for kind of being a mentor and, I guess, being a big brother slash father figure while he's not there for his children, regardless if you think that's a good idea or not. Diddy had a lot of friends. Now he has no friends. He encouraged Kanye to get back in the studio to start smiling more, to stop, you know, being angry.

02:07:04 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It was a nice little call. Again, you heard that part. We need you out there. Pete Davidson is dating somebody new and is very happy, and she is not a celebrity. I mean, think about who he's dated. It was a big deal for him. Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kyat Gerber, Kim Kardashian, Margaret Qualley, Phoebe Dynavore. This girl is just like normal, everyday girl. Very different from anybody else that he's ever dated before. That's what he's been telling his friends. She respects Pete and his desire for privacy. And the big one, his mom and his sister approve of this girl. I don't know who she is. Hilaria Baldwin is trending this morning for snapping at her husband, Alec Baldwin, on the red carpet at the Planet Hollywood Times Square opening party. And it's kind of funny. She very clearly wanted the spotlight, or at least she was the one that wanted to talk during an interview with Extra about their TLC series, The Baldwins.

02:07:58 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

The Ilaria Show. Now, now, I think we're going to see, you know, it's we're going to see how it feels to have it be out there. It's going to be great. You're a winner. Oh, my God. When I'm talking, you're not talking. No, when I'm talking, you're not talking. This is why, yes, we'll have to, like, just cut him out of the show.

02:08:13 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 4:

So, Justin, you're... Whoa, who's she referring to? Her husband. Yeah, her husband.

02:08:16 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 2:

And so he, you can't see this, obviously, because I'm playing the audio, but he locks eyes with the camera and then mouths, I'm sorry, and then just walks away. It's so awkward.

02:08:26 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 4:

Does she not realize that man has a temper? Like, I would not be. He killed somebody. He shot, seriously. Man.

02:08:33 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Justin Timberlake playing flight attendant during a flight to Argentina with his team. This was on board a private jet, not a car jet, to be fair.

02:08:44 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 1:

okay so it's not that great but a life jacket is located in a pouch at the side of your seat to inflate the life jacket hold firmly on the red if you have any questions keep them to yourself

02:08:59 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 2:

oh we're just kidding i kept seeing or i kept hearing about this clip and i'm like oh that's kind of funny if you you know you were on that flight and justin and then i'm like oh it's a private jet who cares for all of today's dirty get caught up by checking out the podcast Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio.

02:11:09 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 1:

You do. Thank you so much. Do you have kids in the car? No.

02:11:12 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good. If you have kids in the car, this is not a topic to listen to. So I'll give you one moment just to tell your kids that you don't love them and get out of the car. All right, perfect. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. This is one of those parental discretions. So I saw this, and I thought this was pretty funny. I wanted to bring it up. It's trending this morning. What do you say when you reach orgasm? A survey has found the generic ah, or hold on. Wait, no, that's not the ah.

Divorce. And by the way, that was said by a 32-year-old man who said Yabba Dabba Doo.

02:12:45 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 3:

And it was his first time.

02:12:47 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 2:

02:14:47 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had sex with a soccer player?

02:15:00 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 3:

That would be a great one. Depending on your partner, some of this could be actually very funny. Oh, yeah. AJ, what's up? Good morning, good morning.

02:15:13 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what was sad? So me and my wife were trying to make a baby, and at that special time I yelled, It's a boy! And I'm a baby, it's a boy.

02:15:22 - 02:15:23 | Unknown:

02:15:24 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. First time, long time. Oh, my God.

02:16:13 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 3:

That would be something funny to say. First time, long time.

02:16:18 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 1:

I get very nervous when people call in for the first time on topics like this.

02:16:22 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, this is a bad one. That's true. No, his sounds good. What was sad?

02:16:26 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 5:

He yodel like he cool.

02:16:30 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 3:

What was the reaction like?

02:16:33 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she looked at me sideways. I was like, okay, I'm good now.

02:16:36 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 1:

I was like, do you realize, like, some of the things I would get instant ick from. Like, if you yodeled at me and you think it's funny, I would genuinely be like, I'm never doing this with you again.

02:16:47 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 3:

What about Kimberly? Kimberly, what was said? I said, oh, my God, I needed that. Oh, that's great. That's a great one. As a guy, that would turn me on. Yeah. As a girl, that would turn me on, too. That would be fantastic, too. Thanks, Kimberly. I appreciate you.

02:22:23 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes you miss your ex. Then you remember what a douchebag he is and how awesome you are. Then you remember you don't miss him. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 on Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids.

02:22:41 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 2:

WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Yes, we got a five lies that's really funny coming up here in just a second. Five lies to tell your mom. This is where your mom will get scammed here on the Mojo in the Morning show, a good old-fashioned phone scam. And your mom is put up to this by you, and we'll come up with five different lies for you to say, and then you call her up, and you get a prize at the end of it, which is actually kind of nice. That is in just seconds. Also in just seconds right after that, we got to talk about Shannon's husband, Wes, and his new hobby he has to get involved in for his work that I think Shannon needs help with. Because to be honest with you, I think that Shannon might be a little lost when it comes to this. And you got to make sure that Wes doesn't screw this up because this is something that he needs to be doing for his job. So we'll explain that coming up here in just a little bit.

02:23:51 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mama.

02:23:58 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Malcolm.

02:23:59 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Hello, hello.

02:24:01 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 2:

Malcolm, I understand that you are a script writer. You're a big Hollywood guy.

02:24:07 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

You know, a little something like that.

02:24:09 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 2:

You're waiting for your big break, and I know your mom is probably praying for that, isn't she?

02:24:14 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, every day. And I just got home to Detroit to visit, and that's all she's been talking about.

02:24:20 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 2:

Now you're living in L.A., so you're doing the whole thing out there, huh?

02:24:23 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 3:

I am. I've been there 10 years.

02:24:26 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

I understand from talking to our producer that you actually are over at your sister's house right now. I am. And we're going to try to make this really believable by making you not there at home and calling your mom up with some big news.

02:24:41 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, which makes sense. Because, you know, it's just 8 a.m. in L.A., and I'm like, I just took my email, and oh, my God, you know.

02:24:50 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

I hope that your mom doesn't have her heart broken by this one. You know, usually it's easier to piss people off and break their hearts, but here we go. Five lies to tell your mom.

02:25:00 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 5:

We're going to make up some lies here. Make your mom believe that you got yourself your big break. Lie number one, Malcolm, you're going to say, Mom, Netflix is sending me a private jet.

02:25:11 - 02:25:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:25:12 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 5:

Lie number two.

02:25:14 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 1:

Say, they want to buy my show. It's called Nuts on the Brain.

02:25:18 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 5:

Nuts on the Brain is crazy. Lie number three. It's about raccoons eating nuts. Lie number four.

02:25:27 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 2:

I have to move to New Zealand and go through a boot camp called the Raccoon Ranch.

02:25:34 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 5:

Wowee. Now, what's your sister's name?

02:25:36 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 3:

Jamelia.

02:25:37 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Line number five, you're going to say, I need you to bring my luggage to Jamelia's house as soon as possible.

02:25:45 - 02:25:45 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:25:46 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

We need excitement and we need panic because you are in a hurry.

02:25:50 - 02:25:51 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:25:51 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 5:

Got it. All right. We're going to see what kind of screenwriter and actor you are by doing this.

02:25:57 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Lord.

02:25:57 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to see if this guy's going to make it off of just doing five lies to tell your mom. Here we go.

02:26:05 - 02:26:05 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:26:19 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Ma.

02:26:23 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:26:24 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 3:

Ma.

02:26:26 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:26:27 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what you doing?

02:26:29 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 4:

This Matt?

02:26:30 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:26:32 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Your number came up, buddy. Not getting ready for the day.

02:26:39 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

How you feeling?

02:26:41 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 4:

I'm okay. You feel that day?

02:26:44 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, I got some news. Are you with that?

02:26:52 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't even. He's somewhere around here.

02:26:55 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, I got some good news. No, I have some really good news.

02:27:01 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Shoot.

02:27:03 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Netflix is going to be a private jet.

02:27:07 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right. Whatever. Okay.

02:27:09 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 3:

No, look. Netflix is going to be a private jet. They, this is crazy. They want to buy a show I wrote called Nuts on the Brain.

02:27:20 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 4:

Nuts on the plane?

02:27:21 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 3:

Nuts on the brain.

02:27:25 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 4:

Nuts on the brain?

02:27:27 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Love on the brain like Rihanna, but nuts on the brain.

02:27:33 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't know anything about that. Okay. They want to send you a private jet to do what?

02:27:38 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 3:

So they want to buy my show. It is about raccoons eating nuts. I know it sounds crazy, but it's a show about raccoons eating nuts.

02:27:46 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 4:

That's why it's like porn. Raccoons eating nuts.

02:27:49 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Porn?

02:27:51 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 4:

How does it sound like porn? Go ahead. Yeah.

02:27:53 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 3:

So, this is the part that I'll kind of hold it back on. So, I have to move to New Zealand for a year and go through a boot camp called the Raccoon Ranch.

02:28:10 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 4:

Whatever.

02:28:11 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm serious.

02:28:13 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 4:

Where the hell is New Zealand? Like, where is that? New Zealand.

02:28:18 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 3:

So, I have to go to New Zealand to do boot camp, Raccoon Ranch, and I'm going to be there for a year. So, I need you to bring my luggage to Jamila's house as soon as possible because we're leaving. What? Leaving. So, I was supposed to go back to L.A. today, but Netflix is like, they have to charter me out today. My flight leaves at 1. So, I need my luggage to Jamila's as soon as possible.

02:28:47 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 4:

Today?

02:28:49 - 02:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, like today as in the next.

02:28:51 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, is this a joke? Because there's no way. I've never heard of Nuts on the Brain. I told you they're going to try to get you into that porn.

02:29:02 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 3:

It's not porn. That sounds like porn. Nuts on the Brain? Not porn. It's literally a show about raccoons eating eggs.

02:29:10 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know where New Zealand is on the map, okay? first off, and you're talking about being gone a whole year, Matt? Really, son? Really? Yes, it's worth it.

02:29:26 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mom.

02:29:27 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 4:

Who's going with you?

02:29:29 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 5:

Mom. How are you, Mom? How you doing?

02:29:35 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm fine. Who's going with you?

02:29:36 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Mom, real quick, I need to tell you something, Mom.

02:29:42 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 4:

Who is this?

02:29:42 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 5:

Malcolm hasn't been telling you the complete truth.

02:29:46 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lord, what the hell?

02:29:48 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 5:

It actually is a porn. I just want you to know that.

02:29:51 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 4:

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 4:

02:30:04 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 2:

Mom, no, it's not. It's not porn.

02:30:06 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 4:

02:30:07 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings. Bye for me. Bye for me. Sweet.

02:32:14 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mother.

02:32:16 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, I got to do a shout out. Hello. Yesterday, I got a tour of the Bell Tire World Headquarters. Bell Tire. By the way, talk about infamous commercials. That at the end of the commercial, the guy with the voice, Bell Tire, that would come on at the end of that thing. And I met a whole bunch of people. First off, thank you to Christy Clark, who showed us around. She took us on a tour of Bell Tire. and in their world headquarters there just off of Northwestern Highway. But I met the owner of it. I met Don Barnes. Might be one of the nicest rich guys I've ever met. Like, I'm going to say this to you. Like, you know, you've got CEOs of companies, and it's a generational company. You know, it got started way back in the day, this family and stuff. This guy, first off, I walk into his office. I called him the wrong name at first. I thought that Alicia said, it's just John. I'm like, hey, John. He's like, it's Don. I'm like, it's just Don. That's very you, though. And then I found out that we had a whole bunch of mutual friends. He's friends with JT, John Tallenger.

02:33:20 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Is Bell Tire a Michigan company?

02:33:23 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:33:23 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that.

02:33:24 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:33:26 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 1:

They're about Michigan proud. I love all the generational families that have Michigan businesses. Oh, yeah.

02:33:32 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Definitely support. And then it's kind of funny because we're sitting there having a conversation. I could have talked to the guy all day, and then they showed me around. But I need to specifically, and Don, don't be mad at me. You were fun to meet. And Christy, you were great to meet, too, and all the other people. I'm shouting out the ladies in payroll. Shout out to the ladies in payroll, the biggest mojo in the morning listeners ever. They listen to the War of the Roses, and then they all talk about it while they're writing checks all day. It's great. They were seriously, it was, talk about a place you want to work. And I know that this is the season, too, because with the weather being 70 today, you're going to end up getting a flat tire. Don't be mad at me, but it just happens. It's Michigan, Ohio roads. I mean, we got bad roads here. So Bell Tire is there. And I said to him, I go, we got to have like a mojo in the morning special. Like every time that we do any kind of like talk to a listener or something like that, that just because we got a lot of single moms that listen to the show. And I know they give back as a as a company all the time. I'm like, man, give us like a free set of fours or something like that just to throw out to some people. So they're really nice people. So shout out to those guys. We're back with the dirty and tickets to see Post Malone and Jelly Roll next. sunshine. Goodbye, winter blues. Hello, spring allergies. This is Mojo in the Morning. Huge egos. I mean, huge ratings in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. We're gonna give you a Post Malone Jelly Roll tickets right now. They're gonna be at Ford Field. Text.

02:35:00 - 02:35:19 | Speaker 5:

To win. Text better, as in, you know, better now from Post Malone. B-E-T-T-E-R. Text that to 95500. Text to win. Tickets to see Post Malone Jelly Roll at Ford Field. And text 95500. I do have to say standard text and data rates to apply.

02:35:20 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:35:22 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 5:

Wow, what a treat. What a treat.

02:35:25 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 1:

He's one of my favorite guests that we have on during the Dirty.

02:35:29 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, what's up in the dirty? What do you got to start off here?

02:35:32 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 1:

So a little update on Tracy Morgan. We talked about how he was spotted vomiting poor guy when he was sitting courtside at the Knicks game on, I believe it was Monday night, leaving in a wheelchair with a bloody nose. So yesterday from his hospital bed, he told Vans he's OK. He said it was food poisoning, according to doctors, was thanking people for their support and shouting out the staffers at Madison Square Garden for taking the best care of him. And this morning, he says he feels well enough to be on the show.

02:36:01 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. Let's go to our very good friend, Tracy Morgan. How are you, Tracy?

02:36:09 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? How you feeling, Tracy? I'm feeling good. Who was that beautiful girl talking just now? That's Shannon. You've met her before face-to-face, Tracy. Shannon, you sound like you got a sweet, thick ass.

02:36:24 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean?

02:36:25 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 5:

I kind of do. I think, actually, I think that when you came in with Craig Gass one time, I think that you actually were inappropriate with Shannon, if I'm not mistaken, Tracy.

02:36:36 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 3:

She sounds beautiful. She sounds beautiful. I know you're checking in on me because you want to know how I'm doing. I'm okay, baby. I'm okay.

02:36:44 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I was worried about you. They had to stop the game. First off, I saw a tweet of you vomiting, and I was like, oh, my God. I felt horrible for the guy sitting next to you.

02:36:57 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 3:

Don't feel bad. Mojo, the New York Knicks are undefeated when I vomit on the court.

02:37:05 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 1:

You know who was sitting right next to you, Tracy? I don't even know if you realized who it was. It was Steven Spielberg's daughter. She had a celebrity sitting next to you.

02:37:12 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 3:

E.T.'s daughter was next to me? So what I'm telling you, Mojo, think about this. You vomit on the court and your team wins? I might have to do some doo-doo to get my Knicks to a championship.

02:37:26 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 5:

So what was it? Was it too much to drink on St. Patrick's Day? What caused it?

02:37:33 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 3:

It was food poisoning. I can handle this, though. I can handle this. I got hit by a truck. I can handle this. My ding-a-ling worked just fine, Mojo.

02:37:44 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 5:

Tracy Morgan, by the way, is one of the greatest human beings ever. He can never die. You cannot die, Tracy. We need to figure out a way to keep you alive forever.

02:37:54 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

i'm superman i got a stack of walmart gift cards mojo i'm okay is that what you got when you got in that accident yeah i tell my kids when you grow up you're gonna need to get hit by an amazon truck

02:38:11 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 5:

the only thing better than a walmart truck an amazon truck by the way this is don't be

02:38:18 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 3:

Don't be getting hit by no school buses. There ain't no money in that. You're getting hit by trucks.

02:38:23 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 5:

I want everybody to say.

02:38:24 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 3:

You're getting hit by trucks. It's a family industry.

02:38:27 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 5:

Everybody say hello to the most incredible comedian in the world. Very good friend of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Craig Gass is on with us right now. Craig, I missed you. What's up, Craig? How you doing, buddy? You telling me this is a white guy? When you saw that, Craig, and Craig goes to every sporting event. I mean, this guy's at Super Bowls. He's at, you know, World Series. When you saw Tracy front row courtside throwing up, I'm shocked you weren't at that game. You go to everything.

02:38:58 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got texts from all my friends saying, hey, did you hear about Tracy? Did you hear about Tracy? And, yeah, I wasn't in New York. I just got home to Vegas just now. So I wasn't even in town. I had just left New York. I had just left New York. But, by the way, when you talk about going to Super Bowls and all that stuff, I think you'll be happy to hear that last year I went to the Super Bowl in Vegas, 49ers and the Chiefs, and I interviewed all the players with Carrot Top and Burt Kreischer. And my number one question for everybody was, do you feel bad for Detroit? Like, right off the top of my head, it was like, I want to get some empathy for the Lions fans out there. I think the whole country was rooting for you guys.

02:39:40 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, and I know you were rooting because we were texting all the time talking about it. So I love you, buddy. Hey, it's early in Vegas. Go back to bed.

02:39:49 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, buddy.

02:39:50 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 5:

I'll talk to you soon. Thanks, Craig. Craig Gass and Tracy Morgan. Goodbye, Tracy.

02:39:55 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 3:

Don't call making me horny. Oh, wow.

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

We'll talk to you later, buddy.

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's the best.

02:40:02 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I saw the headline yesterday. One of them was this. She puts the sham in shamrock. Can we all please stop hating on Meghan Markle or Meghan Sussex? Please. Like, this is getting out of control at this point. So fans are now convinced, and this has become a story, that she faked making homemade St. Patrick's Day waffles for her kids after she posted some videos of herself making them on Instagram on Monday. So she posted some videos of herself whipping up some green batter in a bowl, and then she poured this mixture into a waffle iron. How people have figured out which exactly waffle iron this is, it's the Cuisinart Wearing Pro WMK200 waffle, Belgian waffle maker, okay? It has grooves that section each waffle into quadrants, into four parts. Well, haters noticed right away that the waffles she posted for Archie and Lily, green and topped with a kiwi, two blueberries, and some whipped cream for hair, didn't have the same ridges as waffles made from the Cuisinart waffle maker. They were just flat, like dyed green Eggos. No ridges. Now, the one she designated for herself in Harry, though, had the ridges. So she probably threw some Eggos in for the kids and made the homemade ones for herself and Harry. Well, people were commenting stuff like Meghan Markle's relentless compulsion to lie about everything is baffling, even over something as trivial as a waffle. Another person said she didn't make fresh waffles for the kids. She used frozen waffles. This person continued, why the big deal? Because her post is showing she made it all from scratch. She is a manipulative liar about everything.

02:41:38 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 3:

You guys are going to have your minds blown when you see any food show. Because I'm going to tell you something. The food at the end is not the food that they are making the whole time.

02:41:48 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Did you do the Harry visa story at all? No. So there's a story out this morning about Prince Harry's U.S. immigration files were unsealed because there's a legal challenge to the fact that they wondered if he had done drugs or, you know, you have to be like, you have to honestly answer all those questions. And so that is a big story this morning that they were covering on Good Morning America. and Today Show and stuff, that they were saying because of Freedom of Information Act, that they could go after and ask for that. But because of the HIPAA stuff, he can hold back on certain things. But people are going after to see if he lied on the visa to come over and be here in the United States. Saving my head.

02:42:35 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 4:

All right. President Trump ordered the release of 80,000 pages of previously classified documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He made a promise he was going to do this and he

02:42:46 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 1:

followed through. From Dallas, Texas, the flash, apparently official, President Kennedy died at

02:42:53 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 4:

1 p.m. Central Standard Time. Any headline that you see that says these are the bombshell takeaways It's a lie. There really wasn't anything in there that we didn't already know. A couple of interesting things to me. There was a CIA memo in there from 1963 that confirmed that Lee Harvey Oswald was under surveillance by the CIA weeks and weeks before JFK was assassinated. There's an ex-CIA agent named Gary Underhill who claimed the CIA was responsible for JFK's assassination. he was later found dead in what was ruled quote-unquote suicide so like a couple of little tidbits in there but nothing that was over the top crazy i think the only thing that they said

02:43:38 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 2:

was there was uh also that we were surveilling the russians and the cubans during that we actually did have like spies that were in on all that stuff with the cuban missile crisis was another

02:43:52 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 4:

one of the things that most of the stuff that came out of that was just names like actual names of informants and such like names that have been redacted in the past and lastly lalapalooza released its 2025 lineup for this summer's festival at chicago's grant park headliners this year include olivio rodrigo tyler the creator luke combs asap rocky twice gracie abrams dochi and sabrina carpenter is on there as well

02:44:22 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 2:

Is that a good lineup, you think?

02:44:27 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 4:

I mean, there are a ton of people on here. Those are the biggies, but pre-sale tickets, which include some VIP packages and stuff, go on sale tomorrow, I believe.

02:44:37 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 2:

It's usually the way Lollapalooza goes, the way that all the other festivals go for the summertime. That means that those artists are all touring.

02:44:45 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's Dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Just search Mojo in the morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:44:52 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. I got a couple of things. We're going to bring this up real quick that this is the first or the last day of winter. And then the first day of spring is tomorrow. And there's a couple of tornado drills that are going to be going on today. And there's one happening right now to our listeners in Toledo area.

02:45:24 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 2:

What a dumb ass time to do a test.

02:45:26 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 3:

The Lucas County Emergency Management Agency sent out alerts that there will be a drill that will be done. And it started at 9.50. So it just is going off or was just going off. So this is Tornado Awareness Week. And also in Michigan, there will be one that will be going off today at 1 o'clock. So I think at 1 o'clock today, there will be a drill that will be going off.

02:45:55 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 2:

Which, by the way, 1 o'clock or noon, like the standard time, totally makes sense. 9.50? With no warning?

02:46:03 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, they did warn. They put it out, and all the news stations were carrying it.

02:46:07 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm sorry. Who checks the news? Truly.

02:46:10 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 3:

They should have bought TikTok ads on beauty supply TikTok.

02:46:13 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 1:

Or ads on this fine radio. Right. Now you're talking.

02:46:17 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 3:

You would never have heard them. You don't listen to the commercials.

02:46:20 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry.

02:46:21 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 3:

And you skip all the commercials on TikTok, too.

02:46:24 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 2:

The only local news that I have read in the past, I don't know, eight years have been what's set in the group chat.

02:46:32 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 3:

You never even respond to those? I don't even think you read to those. Half the time I don't. It seems like just very weird. Here's how you become aware. By you hearing the siren and then calling all your friends until one person knows.

02:46:45 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 2:

I literally just got four separate texts about why are tornado sirens going off from all people under the age of 35. Quick question.

02:46:53 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 3:

why are they contacting you about this? How would they think that you know you don't even answer your phone?

02:47:00 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 2:

I think it was more like, oh, she works in media. Maybe she knows, and I didn't. I had no idea. 9.50 on a Wednesday when they normally do it on noon on Fridays is wild.

02:47:13 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 3:

To all Megan Mick's friends, if there were the end of the world, she'd be the last person that you should contact because she's not going to know. She would have no clue. She may be in media, but she can tell you the seventh track on Harry Styles' last album. She will not be able to tell you when there's going to be a siren going off, if it's a bombing or something happening. If I was going to call anybody, I would not call you. I'd call my sister, Pat. Shout out to Pat.

02:47:41 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 2:

So just so I'm clear, you wouldn't call me in an emergency.

02:47:44 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't. Well, I'd call you to see. Well, first off, you wouldn't answer my phone if it was an emergency. But I would call you to warn you about it. I wouldn't call you to see if there was any reasoning behind it because you know where you know all the good info? You know the reason why some lady from 1958 got murdered in some kind of a weird story. Like, you watched the documentary to that. Like, that's your know-how.

02:48:09 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 2:

For sure. But I also think it's funny that I'm like, oh, there's a tornado going off at 9.50 and everybody's like, yeah, it's a test. I'm like, it would be one thing, like I said, if it was the first Friday of the month at noon. And I'm like, why is the tornado siren going off? Like, that's the normal test. You don't think it's weird to do a test?

02:48:26 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 3:

It's tornado week. The kids are all having tornado drills at school.

02:48:30 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 2:

How would I know that?

02:48:31 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 3:

If you would get off of your TikTok and your, what else are you on? What else are you watching? Your Netflix, Shannon's Hulu account. If you would get off of Shannon. Oh, yeah, I do have Hulu now. I owe you.

02:48:44 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

Truly, I think a lot of you guys know what's going on because your kid's school tells you.

02:48:50 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 1:

You want to know who I know? To be very, very honest, it has nothing to do with the kids' school. I cheat a little bit, and I listen to the news station on the way in. Boring. I have to, though, because I kind of know what's going on. I look at TikTok. I get all mine from TikTok.

02:49:04 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 3:

But you just hate me and crap for that. Twitter. I'm not on Twitter. Twitter X. I almost said Titter.

02:49:11 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm not on Titter, Twitter, or TikTok.

02:49:13 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 3:

I feel like that's where I'm getting mad. I have not watched. I used to be obsessive with local news. I would watch the local news in Detroit, Toledo, and Grand Rapids. Wow. I don't watch the news anymore because I feel like the news is like eight hours behind everything else now that it's out there. I look at Metro Detroit News. Same.

02:49:31 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 1:

It's very, very depressing.

02:49:33 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:49:35 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 1:

Do I want to hear about what?

02:49:38 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Here's what I want. I want listeners to call up and tell us. You wouldn't go to Megan for this type of news. but what would you go to Megan for? What do you guys think Megan is the most knowledgeable at that you would go and turn to her? Because the Royals, if I wanted to know who Archie's, you know, fifth.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 2:

Cousin once removed was I'd call you in a second

02:50:03 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 1:

Megan you would know it

02:50:05 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 2:

You know all that stuff You also are good at any Kind of documentary to any Kind of weird story that is Out there

02:50:14 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 4:

I would say it's mostly cults

02:50:17 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I also would go I'd come to you To find out makeup That's what I said makeup Baking baking there you go Toledo Toledo

02:50:30 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 1:

I've got to think of all the things that you guys mock me for around here. These are not mocked.

02:50:34 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 2:

Frickers. Megan. Frickers.

02:50:37 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 4:

These are compliments, Megan makes. Frickers. Everybody has.

02:50:41 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 2:

And then, and then, like, if I wanted to know, if I wanted to know the latest and greatest. I shouldn't have said anything.

02:50:49 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 4:

I just, I shouldn't have said anything.

02:50:51 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, let me go around the room here. If I wanted to know the latest and greatest beautiful black dress that you can buy on Amazon, I'd go to Shannon. I could figure it out from you, Shannon. Or if I wanted to know loopy cases, if I wanted to know.

02:51:04 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 4:

Cupcake 10, 10% off.

02:51:06 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 2:

I would do that.

02:51:07 - 02:51:07 | Speaker 4:

A lower case.

02:51:08 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 2:

If I wanted to know what else with you. Oh, you know every kid's snack ever that has been invented. That's right. Because of the children.

02:51:16 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 4:

The Annie's Cheesy Bunnies. Not as good as Cheez-It. Don't waste your money.

02:51:20 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 2:

If I wanted to know how many technical fouls Draymond Green has gotten this year in the NBA. Totally me. I'd go to Kevin. I would go to you, Kev. If I wanted to know which particular...

02:51:31 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 4:

The lyrics to any Kanye West song.

02:51:33 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Or...

02:51:33 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 4:

Chris Brown.

02:51:34 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 2:

Kendrick Lamar. Or Chris Brown, yeah. If I wanted to know where to get the best wings in any city known to man, I'd go to Kay Irwin over there. I go to you for bourbon. Bourbon knowledge. Thank you. I like that. I've gotten better at it. What else?

02:51:51 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 4:

Nerdy radio anything.

02:51:53 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I can tell you the call letters in any city.

02:51:55 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 4:

If, yeah, if you are vacationing in any city and you want to know what radio station, like, plays the same kind of music as, you know, Channel 955, whatever, he will know. G105 Raleigh.

02:52:06 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 1:

And he'll know who the morning show is. I go to you for quarter zip fashion advice.

02:52:15 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 2:

If you want to know the latest stuff at Grayson, I can tell you that. Or Peter Millar. Yeah. I can get you that. Yeah. I can get you a discount at Carl's Golf Land, too. You can. I can get whatever you need. Let's give it. Hold on, Mike. Mike, what would you turn to Megan for?

02:52:31 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 3:

Mike's on the phone. Hey, Mike. I call in all the time, so I can't say first time, long time. I would go baking and sweets, sweet treats.

02:52:43 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 2:

Sweet treats. She's the queen of that. She thinks we're making fun of her. This is not making fun, right, Mike? You're not laughing with her? No, absolutely not.

02:52:51 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 3:

I watch. She's on TikTok, and she bakes, so I watch her bake sometimes.

02:52:54 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, appreciate you. There you go, Mike. Thank you. Not everything is making fun of. This is all just things that are common knowledge that we all know. This is called character development.

02:53:06 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 1:

I would say also drag queen stuff.

02:53:10 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:53:11 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, yes.

02:53:12 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 2:

You want to know?

02:53:13 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 1:

I love how he clarified.

02:53:15 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 5:

Now I'm making fun of you. You bring up a valid point. He immediately starts laughing.

02:53:19 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 2:

That was the way that he said it. Jennifer, we're doing some character development right now. Dennis Clark would love this. Steve Reynolds, Randy Lane, all those radio programming guys. They would all love this. What's going on?

02:53:35 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Good morning. I love you, Megan.

02:53:38 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 5:

Love you, too. I would come to Megan for movie lines and just random facts. Oh, thanks. Perfect. All kinds of random stuff. All the randomness.

02:53:50 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 2:

She is the, if you have never watched the show Cheers before, she's the Cliff Clavin of our show. Did you ever watch that show ever? I know Shannon's dad loves Cheers. Ask your dad who the Cliff Clavin is of this radio show. I got another one. Yes.

02:54:10 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 1:

Anything Broadway. Oh, yeah. I'll take it. Like musical related stuff.

02:54:16 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 2:

I will take it. I didn't laugh.

02:54:20 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 1:

I did not.

02:54:23 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 2:

She thinks I'm making fun of her, Courtney. Are we making fun of Megan?

02:54:28 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I'm not going to say anything other than I would go to Megan to find out all your secrets, Mojo, because you really are hanging her out the dress. I don't think you guys, I think Mojo specifically is making fun of Megan. How am I making fun of her right now? You just called her the worst character from TV, Cliff Clavin. No, that's the guy that knew everything.

02:54:50 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Nobody knew the reference. It's an old movie. It's an old TV show. But Courtney.

02:54:56 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Courtney. Go ahead. Let me explain something. We were in a commercial.

02:55:00 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 5:

break and she's like oh my god something bad's happening in toledo she mentioned the thing i said no that was a story that we got press released and i saw in the news i didn't get a press release about it and she for some reason thought that we were you know that they didn't tell her about it and i'm saying we're all good at something this is what megan is good at true

02:55:19 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 2:

yeah this is true all i'm saying is there's been a lot of times someone else on the show saying a story and then you ask the same question mojo i do i'm sure everyone else can back me up on that because I know you're busy, but that's the thing. I give you respect for all the amazing things you do.

02:55:35 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:55:35 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 2:

Same thing with Megan.

02:55:37 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so let me ask you then. Joking aside, what would you turn to me for? What would be the thing that you would come to me for? Because I can take a joke every now and again.

02:55:49 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 2:

You have no idea how much I would love to just take your brain about everything you do with radio. I'm such a nerd. When I went to the live Mojo in the Morning podcast, the More Mojo podcast live, I was so sad you guys didn't do a Q&A because I have so many questions about everything you do I got something for you

02:56:05 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 5:

we're doing another one coming up here we got a big announcement coming

02:56:09 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 2:

what's your top question?

02:56:11 - 02:56:13 | Speaker 5:

go ahead ask me anything

02:56:13 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 2:

well I just listened to the More Mojo podcast and it was about Lydia's least and most favorite callers she just said my name is BFF Courtney on the text line any other info that's there?

02:56:26 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 5:

oh that's a good one Well, I will tell you this. Courtney, I don't recognize you that I have talked to you a ton. I think that you have been on with us, but I don't have. But you sound like a nice lady. I really got nothing to add to this.

02:56:45 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 1:

That's okay. Thank you.

02:56:46 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 5:

I think he's making fun of me now, and I'm not liking this. I'm not. Kevin is. No, Kevin is.

02:56:52 - 02:56:57 | Speaker 4:

You are one of the funniest people I know, bro. Who, me? You are funny. How am I funny?

02:56:57 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 5:

I'll tell you.

02:56:58 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 4:

What have I said earlier? Like, let's get a bunch of Asian dudes and dress them up and take them to me.

02:57:04 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 5:

Courtney, don't listen to them. I never said that. Courtney, I would never say something like that.

02:57:10 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 4:

You are hilarious, bro.

02:57:10 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 5:

We're focusing on Megan. Stop this. Alicia, what's up, Alicia?

02:57:16 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so I just wanted to say that I have a decent amount of musical knowledge, but Megan, like, takes the cake. She can be like, yeah, this person was in there, and then they were in this, and they were in this, and this. And you haven't seen this? You know what's funny? It's just so natural to her. This is very true.

02:57:31 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 5:

You have your imitation of her perfectly. When Shannon does it dirty and Megan fully knows something, she does kind of have that quick like, it's like when a dog gets excited. It's amazing.

02:57:48 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 4:

No, don't do that.

02:57:51 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 5:

No, it's like the breathy, like, oh, my God, I got so much information, I need to get it out.

02:57:56 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and again, it's not making fun of you at all because I do the same thing, and I love it. Like, it's just all that information surging. You have to get it out. But I would definitely go to you for musical.

02:58:06 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 5:

Feel it. I feel it. That's good. Thank you for the call. Appreciate that. Thanks for taking this topic seriously, guys. What's going on, Lauren? Hi.

02:58:15 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I think that Megan is the best of the best. I would go to Megan for any advice. I think she is just an awesome person. and I think that she stands up for the right things, and I love you.

02:58:28 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate you. But you would not go to her if you wanted to know there was a tornado, because she did not know that. I want everybody to be set straight on that.

02:58:36 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 6:

Warning. Tornado warning.

02:58:39 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 5:

All right, thank you.

02:58:40 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 6:

Or alarm. Hold on. There's not really a tornado. Samantha's got a good one.

02:58:44 - 02:58:48 | Speaker 5:

Samantha, what would you turn to Megan for? What is Megan all knowing of?

02:58:49 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 3:

Megan knows her cult. Bingo. Bingo. Yeah.

02:58:55 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 5:

She's the cult. You love a good cult. Thinking about joining one. Do you ever watch the news and they go, it's our aviation correspondent, Gio Benitez. I love Gio Benitez. Megan is the cult correspondent of the Mojo in the Morning show.

02:59:13 - 02:59:28 | Speaker 6:

If anybody knows of any cults looking to offer food, housing, just for full-time membership, I am open and available. Scientology. If they're, I'm about to sign a billion dollar Sea Org contract. That sounds like it might be my next path.

02:59:28 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 5:

What is it kind of contract? A Sea Org. Look at her. She even knows the name of it.

02:59:33 - 02:59:35 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to go live down in Clearwater where the Sea Org is.

02:59:36 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Come down. Seriously. What's up, Carrie? Hi.

02:59:40 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Hey. I would definitely go to Megan to know where the good weed's at. Hey.

02:59:47 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

You know what? You want weed? she knows the although I don't think Megan participates as much as we would make it out to be smoking the reefer I don't think I've ever seen

03:00:00 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 4:

Megan high. Have I seen you high? I don't think you've ever seen me high. Actually, I thought Megan drank. She doesn't drink either. I don't really drink, no. She's not a drinker. I think she's pretty clean. I know. I'm actually really boring. If I was going to actually use anybody's urine, I would use Megan's urine. I think her urine would be the best. It is your best bet. And last but not least, before we take a break, Rambo. Misfit Rambo. Rambo. Rambo. Buddy, it's been a day. What's going on?

03:00:30 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 2:

I am crying, laughing. The way Kevin keeps laughing, man, it gets me every time, man. And Mojo, I wouldn't come for you for nothing either. You know, the advice you probably give me, I'll lose my relationship.

03:00:45 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you something.

03:00:46 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 2:

Everything you talk about is either a penis, vagina, boobs. It's just, yeah.

03:00:51 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Let me say this, Rambo. Like I said, I would use Megan's urine. I'd never use your urine.

03:00:57 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, you ain't getting no job.

03:01:00 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 1:

See, you could have been listening to the crap the other morning shows are talking about. But you heard that on Mojo in the Morning. Happy. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:01:14 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 4:

So what's going on? Why are you not getting a call back? Imani wants to know. Imani, what's happening?

03:01:20 - 03:01:22 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Good morning.

03:01:22 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I like that you're so upbeat this morning, even though you're not getting a call back.

03:01:28 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 5:

oh my god this is crazy okay so i met this guy at the gym we went to this really nice upscale spot the chop house okay and like the date was amazing it was so freaking awesome i mean he even paid for my dinner which he should but like i mean wait so okay so you guys so you guys had

03:01:55 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 4:

You guys had such a good date with each other, and everything went well, but he's not calling you back. How did the date end? Like, something had to happen that made you go, this is not good.

03:02:06 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 5:

I mean, like, honestly, it was beautiful. Like, he kissed me. We were going to let go and, like, do another workout at the gym.

03:02:15 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so you guys actually were going to make another date to get together, and then...

03:02:21 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:02:22 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 4:

but he's not now calling you back and you're wondering what the story is. We're going to find out what's going on with the second date update right now on the Mojo in the Morning show. What's there? Aaron is on the phone. Aaron. Aaron, are you there? Hey. What's happening? Hey. How are you? How are you doing? This is Mojo and Shannon, Megan, Kev.

03:02:48 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Aaron.

03:02:48 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 4:

We want to know if you're cool with being on the radio. Yeah, yeah. Okay, will you say hello to Imani, please? Hey.

03:03:03 - 03:03:13 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you? I mean, it's nice to get you on the phone. I've been trying to get you. Like, we had such a good time at the top house. What happened?

03:03:13 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 4:

Imani is wanting to know what's going on and why you're not calling her back, Aaron.

03:03:18 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 3:

um we just i think we just kind of have different different values there

03:03:26 - 03:03:32 | Speaker 4:

different values that yeah your values uh came up during the date

03:03:32 - 03:03:50 | Speaker 3:

um well we just kind of think differently in regards to first dates how so i i think you know on your first date you kind of need to split especially depending on the bill

03:03:50 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 4:

you need to so she said that you paid for it and she was very happy it sounded like that you paid for it but you're saying that you were wanting her to actually chip in on the date and yeah did

03:04:04 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 3:

you make that known well i i just kind of thought we had the understanding that we we were kind of on the same page especially after we met we kind of hit it off at the gym and everything but she she she kind of is a little different than i thought she would be

03:04:22 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 2:

simply because she wouldn't split the bill or were there other things

03:04:25 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

yeah there there was other things that happened that kind of just proved my point what what are those before we get into this okay so you've been to chop house and it's pretty it's not pricey pricey but it's it's a little on up there uh all of a sudden you know i thought we were going to share the cheese plate but then she ordered shrimp then she started ordering something else and then a couple of things i was just a little surprised that she ordered so

03:05:00 - 03:05:32 | Speaker 1:

much on just the first date uh yeah all right so hold on so amani amani the energy level just came down on amani on this one here she's like 110 uh miles an hour now we don't hear from her at all amani let's let's i'm not a lot of words let's i'm so sorry let's tackle the uh did when the bill came did you offer to put money down no i mean my my parents raised me to let the man

03:05:32 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 2:

take care of me like it's a man i'm so sorry this is did you did you guys talk at any point about

03:05:39 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 4:

splitting the bill or was that just an assumption because i feel like there was not a conversation about that, that, Aaron, you just assumed that the bill would be split?

03:05:50 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Yeah.

03:05:53 - 03:06:12 | Speaker 4:

Because if you made that assumption and she wasn't aware, I kind of see her side of like, okay, you can't knock me for that. Now, the fact that she was ordering an exorbitant amount of appetizers, that is not cool. But who set up the date?

03:06:13 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 1:

Did you ask her out, or did, Imani, did you set the date up? No, I asked her. I asked her. You asked her out.

03:06:20 - 03:06:21 | Speaker 5:

And you chose the restaurant?

03:06:22 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 1:

Yes. That's on you. So you paid. That's on you, dude. Always a standard place.

03:06:28 - 03:06:44 | Speaker 5:

It would be one thing if she said, hey, I'd like you to take me to this, like, high-end restaurant, and then she ordered a million things. But if you said, hey, I'd like to take you here, I'm sorry if I'm going on a date, especially in a high-end place, I get more than one appetizer. Like, I do think this is on you.

03:06:44 - 03:06:45 | Speaker 1:

You would order more than one appetizer?

03:06:46 - 03:06:46 | Speaker 5:

I would.

03:06:46 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I would not. I think that the guy probably should be paying for the date. I'm old-fashioned and like that, too. I don't think that's old-fashioned. I just think that that's just commonplace. But I will say this. If I think that somebody's paying for the bill, I ain't putting my feed bag on.

03:07:02 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 5:

I agree with you. I always offer to pay or split on a first date, too, because it's not my expectation for you to pay. especially on a first date that might not be going great but i'm also not going to high-end places all the time and i know the food normally is pretty good i'm gonna try a little bit of everything

03:07:20 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 1:

i know that i'm spending money uh i i would say this amani that uh you went into this right off the bat saying and i'm expecting him to pay or whatever your comment was he said you your intentions definitely were that you were gonna have a great night and everything was so great that you were wondering what the hell is happening. And now you found out your answer. Lauren, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

03:07:46 - 03:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Hello. Good morning, guys.

03:07:48 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on?

03:07:51 - 03:07:58 | Speaker 2:

I was just, yeah, he keeps complaining about the bill, and he should have been prepared if he's the one that wanted to take her there.

03:07:59 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 1:

03:08:18 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't have that big of an appetite, but that's just me personally.

03:08:22 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 1:

I kind of like girls with big appetites. I'll be honest with you. You like Big Macs? I know. I like you to eat. I want to have options, too.

03:08:31 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 5:

I know it's not. That's really mean. Also, when you go to like a fancy place, like when I, I went somewhere the other day and we got oysters, right? I love oysters. You can get- A dozen or a half. Well, that's my point is you can get small apps places. You can get the shrimp cocktail and get small versions of it versus large versions of it. Why are you looking at me like you've never been to a restaurant that has different options?

03:08:55 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 3:

That's not why I'm looking at you. Who did you go get oysters with? Don't worry about it. Mark this down. Next topic.

03:09:01 - 03:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Like here's the deal. Here's the deal. If you go out on a date, you aren't ordering the seafood tower. You know what I mean? That's going to cost you an arm and a leg.

03:09:09 - 03:09:09 | Speaker 5:

No, why not?

03:09:10 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

03:09:11 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 5:

It's about the end. Why not? It's the experience of $300. You don't order anything. No, no, hold on. If we are a girl and we go out and order a salad, you're like, you're not showing me the real you. And then I go out and I go, we're somewhere nice and I want to enjoy this experience and try a few things. It's you fatty. Stop ordering. No, no, no. Here's the deal.

03:09:30 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Ordering a filet, which is what I would probably order in this situation at the chop house, is very entirely different than ordering the seafood towel and a bottle of champagne.

03:09:40 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Anything that says market price and not a price, then you know it's going to be expensive. You've got to earn it. You've got to earn it. There's no winning. Jordan, what's going on? Your thoughts?

03:09:51 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. How are you doing?

03:09:53 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm pretty sure we've all established whoever asks to go out on the date is the one that pays for it. Yes. Your father did teach you.

03:10:00 - 03:10:05 | Speaker 5:

that a man is supposed to take care of you, but I don't think he taught you that you're supposed to take advantage of the man.

03:10:06 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 4:

I think that's fair. I agree with you. I think that it becomes taken advantage of when you're ordering a ton of stuff. But with that said, I think that her intention with this date the entire time, because you heard her say this when I first picked her up, was that she was going out on this guy's dime. And I think that was her intention the entire time.

03:10:30 - 03:10:33 | Speaker 3:

How was that her intention when he set it up and suggested it?

03:10:33 - 03:10:49 | Speaker 4:

But she said that to us when she's describing before we even picked him up. That was her. She's like, yeah, he paid for the date, and that's how I want it. Like, she actually said that in the beginning. I didn't ask her anything about who paid or did any of that stuff. So I think that her intention was she was getting herself a big meal.

03:10:50 - 03:10:54 | Speaker 1:

But he could have said, let's go to Red Robin. He chose Chop House.

03:10:55 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 4:

What's that, Imani? What were you going to say?

03:10:56 - 03:11:04 | Speaker 6:

did she choose chop house or did you choose chop house hold on hold on that's she that's

03:11:04 - 03:11:12 | Speaker 4:

shayla shayla's uh i just picked her up shayla i didn't even say hi to you yet you're jumping in you're you're fired up on this one shayla what did you want to say to amana

03:11:12 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 6:

so my first question is is did you the guy choose the restaurant or he already said that he did

03:11:19 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:11:21 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 6:

He did? Yes. Seriously. You would look horrible, though.

03:11:47 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 4:

If a guy did that, he would look like a cheap ass. She'd be in the group check going crazy.

03:11:54 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 7:

Then don't pick it. She'd be in the group check.

03:11:57 - 03:12:11 | Speaker 1:

I also don't think you're picking it, thinking that she's going to order $500. She ordered two appetizers. Two appetizers is what we're arguing over at a restaurant where the main course is $100. How is this her fault?

03:12:12 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 4:

How much was the bill, Erin?

03:12:14 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 5:

How much was the entire bill? Way more than two. It was more than $2. We were reaching like $200, just about. Easily.

03:12:24 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 1:

Easy. Okay, but you chose a restaurant that that's easy to do.

03:12:29 - 03:12:42 | Speaker 5:

But it's a little different. I would have been perfectly okay if she would have offered to split it for me. Like, I have no problem paying for the bill, but. She didn't offer. She's just not classy. She's not classy at all.

03:12:42 - 03:12:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay, at least the offer is what he's saying. Eric, what do you think, Eric?

03:12:47 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 8:

I have a question. Yes. This is very important. Please. With all the food that was ordered from Imani, were there a lot of leftovers? Because if there were leftovers, then that tells me she was just racking up the bill to see exactly what...

03:13:04 - 03:13:09 | Speaker 4:

What's the story? How much as far as leftovers, guys? Zero.

03:13:09 - 03:13:10 | Speaker 5:

She ate everything.

03:13:10 - 03:13:22 | Speaker 7:

No, we just said that you are... You just don't like her because she's eating a lot. Not order the salad and then just eat the side salad and there you go. I mean, she showed you who she is. I mean, that's a bonus, right?

03:13:22 - 03:13:23 | Speaker 4:

I kind of like it.

03:13:23 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 8:

I'm a woman that can eat a cheeseburger.

03:13:24 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 4:

I'm kind of turned on by her, aren't you, Eric? I think this is great.

03:13:28 - 03:13:33 | Speaker 8:

My wife is like, the car that impresses her is the food truck. And you know what?
