Showtime.

00:03:20 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 2:

good morning and welcome to the mojo of the morning show it is good to have you guys here with us today i know this is going to sound crazy to say but i think this will be a more restful week amen i need that man i'm telling you i think i think between friday and saturday of last week i think that we probably worked um and definitely not hours wise because we had a lot of fun but it It was probably more exhausting, don't you think, Friday and Saturday was than Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday?

00:04:17 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

I realize I stood both days from, like, the minute I woke up until the minute I went to bed. I was standing.

00:04:23 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Legs were, like, smooth. Oh, my gosh. Last week you were talking about your steps. How many steps did you end up getting? Did you get a lot of steps?

00:04:30 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 4:

I didn't look this weekend because the steps weren't in a straight line.

00:04:34 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 2:

They still count, though. But you know what's funny?

00:04:36 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

My hand really hurt. I couldn't grip the steering wheel on the drive yesterday back from West Michigan. And I was like, why is my hand hurt so much? Did I hurt it? What did I do? And I was like, I wasn't really drunk. Like, then I realized I was holding a cup or a bottle for 15 hours each day. Literally just constantly holding a cup in the same, having my hand in the same.

00:05:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 3:

exact position well i will say that and also did you not feel like if i took my glove off a couple of times to to like try to pick things up because i couldn't use my phone or do things and take a picture um and you take it off for just a second on saturday it was so cold it felt like you had frostbite because it was like 20 degrees the snow was kind of bursting through um and people were still there it was amazing the crowd so the guy from uh that does the uh the entire irish and is it shame yeah so we were walking out it was shannon myself lydia megan uh wes and we were leaving uh to go get something to eat and as we were walking shane screams is the mojo and he stops and he comes over and talks to us and now let me just tell you the stuff that that he had to face for this thing on saturday the weather was crappy the people over at channel 13 the night before canceled the thing they actually went on the the news canceled it and posted on their

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

social media that it was canceled did we even say we're talking about irish on ionia the largest

00:06:10 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

festival patch day of the year in michigan so uh if they literally closed down ionia right there in grand rapids and it's just loaded with fun bars and stuff but they set up tents and they They have stages, and they have music, and they, I mean, it literally is great.

00:06:25 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

But according to TV, it was canceled. They canceled it. They were like, how are we going to spread the word to people that it's actually happening?

00:06:31 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 3:

And the craziest part of it, they blamed it on an intern. Which, I can't tell you the last time that a radio station or TV station has actually had interns, right? I mean, throw them under the bus. We're going to say it was an intern. So it was an intern that made the mistake. So Shane said, guys, thank you so much. Thanks to all the iHeart stations and, of course, SNX and John and Mike and Tim and Dave and everybody over there, everybody that did such a great job, the word got out and people still came. And the pre-sales were amazing. And holy cow, people want to party and they don't care what the weather is like.

00:07:16 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

At one point, I looked over, and the line to get in was, I mean, wrapped around the blocks, because I think it went down. And I'm like, I feel so bad for all these people, because, I mean, the snow was blowing. Like you said, it was frigid. It wasn't even cold. It was frigid. And it was cool once you got into the bars and the tents and stuff. But waiting in that line just had to be brutal. People didn't care. I got to do a little bit of retreat. Who else is in the level car and say yeah? Yeah.

00:07:44 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was fun. It was so much fun. And the other, you know, thing that people had to deal with, if anybody was coming from anywhere, it could have been from West Michigan or from the west or the east side of the state. The weather was so bad that the drive in, you would be driving and everything was completely clear and nice and, you know, just cold. And then you couldn't see in front of your face. It was white out blizzard like conditions. So I drove in on Saturday. Shannon, I know you drove in on Saturday. Lydia, KP, drove in on Saturday. We were the dumb ones. Spike and Megan were the smart ones. They stayed on Friday night.

00:08:30 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 2:

I was worried about you guys because when I woke up and saw the conditions, I thought, oh, my gosh, are they going to make it safely?

00:08:35 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't because I don't care about any of you. Thank you. You're welcome. You're so kind. Just so we're clear. So I left early because I wanted to get to the kegs and eggs broadcast that Mike and Megan and Schmitty were doing. So I left my house at 630. I'm driving on 96. I'm going through Nova. I got my coffee in my hand. I felt I was like so excited. It was like everything was awesome. And then all of a sudden I get to Lansing and I am freaking out. I've got one guy in front of me. It's completely white out. I'm following his taillights. I'm hearing I'm going oh my god we're off the road we're actually on the shoulder right now and then I tried to figure out am I on the right shoulder or the left shoulder so I said alright I'll turn over to the left so I turned over to the left and I could hear the passenger side still going I'm like oh good okay I'm back on the road and then I realized I'm going to put my hazards on because the people behind me are starting to freak out and it got it got nuts and it was it was dark you know that early in the morning so then when it cleared up you still didn't know if it was going to still all of a sudden keep snowing because you couldn't see it was just insane it was insane I and I was the one

00:09:44 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

driving because Wes had some work to do um while while we were making the drive and I I mean I had my hazards on for definitely half of the ride and I we get we finally made it to Grand Rapids and I'm like, I need to take something.

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 2:

Like, I was so worked up with that drive. I didn't know if we were going to make it. At one point, we pulled over because we just couldn't even see anything, not even the person in front of us that had hazards on. It was so bad.

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 6:

It was insane.

00:10:11 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 2:

It was so bad. I don't think I've ever driven in weather like that before in my entire life.

00:10:17 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 6:

Never. And I think I drove one time to Chicago in a big snowstorm, but it was, like, not like that, like whiteout. The thing that was interesting was the roads were clear, like, because the snow was just blowing but it wasn't sticking at all it was weird it was like the weirdest thing ever but it caused for now they're saying 150 car pile up that happened on 96 and uh i got some news report on on this or some some people uh speaking on this this was the uh ionia county sheriff department lieutenant jack peters explaining what happened that bridge is is not a great spot to have

00:10:53 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 1:

accidents i've policed accidents there before with fatalities so uh today we don't have any fatalities and i'm grateful extremely grateful for that yeah it's it's as you were coming into

00:11:04 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 6:

downtown uh into grand rapids in portland there uh near portland there was 150 car pile up both

00:11:12 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 5:

ways both sides they had eastbound and westbound and like he said there's just it's so rural it's not easy to get to and it's not easy to get people around the uh an eyewitness who was actually in

00:11:24 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

the accident the guy was part of this accident uh harlan uh medallin medallin uh speaks and roads

00:11:31 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 4:

were clear traffic was moving you know full speed 65 70 miles per hour and within a matter of moments

00:11:38 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 6:

it just it just turned white wow do you realize this was hours after we had gotten into town it's amazing we could have been in it man and it's and it's really wild to think this and actually it's funny uh you know tony travato was going to come in at the time when this accident happened so he was going to come visit us and he got held up at home by like something that happened something broke at the house and he had to fix it really fast and he didn't come he would have been in that accident it would have been right in the middle of the thing isn't that like you know somebody sending a message there to him uh joe what's up it's mojo in the morning how you doing What's up, guys? How's everyone doing? We're doing good, man. You made it to Irish on Ionia. Did you have fun?

00:12:23 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we were there at 10 a.m. We were the one with the dog that you took a picture with. Oh, that's right.

00:12:28 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 6:

By the way, the dog, cute. The girl, cuter. Who's the girl?

00:12:34 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

She's my fiancé.

00:12:36 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 6:

You lucky bastard. What's her name? Shout her out.

00:12:39 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Her name is Lana Salinas. She owns actually a cookie business in Birmingham, Michigan. Really? Nice.

00:12:44 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man. And you guys brought your dog with you to Irish Ann Ionia. Can you explain that to me, please?

00:12:50 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so that's my service. Oh, okay. All right. Yep. So when we got there, though, before you guys, I think it was before you guys got there, but really early there was the band playing with the, one of them was the violin and the other was the guitar. And we brought our dog and everybody pushed us to the front of the crowd to bring the dog up. And so we raised him up in the air, and everybody in the tent was. Oh, my God.

00:13:17 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 6:

That's awesome. You had a mascot for the entire day. Wait, what's your dog's name? Aries. Aries. So Aries was there. People were, you could scream anything out to people. They would make noise for anything. You could scream, you know, ice cream.

00:13:33 - 00:13:33 | Unknown:

Yeah!

00:13:34 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 6:

You know. We're having a good time.

00:13:36 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

The other thing, too, is we were at Kennedy's as well the day before, and we got the necklaces that had the shot cups in it. Yes. So we brought them around, and we filled it up with water, and he was taking shots with us all day. Oh, my God. Aries is a partier.

00:13:50 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 6:

Maybe Aries needs to be, like, the official Mojo in the Morning party mascot.

00:13:55 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he loves it. He loved the whole thing.

00:13:58 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 6:

So this is cool. So you guys came out to both of our Friday broadcasts and then Saturday broadcasts.

00:14:06 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah we were i i kept telling my girl i was like we gotta go i love these guys i listen to them all the time we gotta go i kept forcing them like it doesn't matter it's 5 a.m we gotta go we

00:14:15 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 2:

gotta go oh man so are you detoxing today like the rest of us no i gotta work today i well yeah

00:14:23 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 6:

of course but we're still detoxing but do you feel like like we were talking about like between friday and saturday it felt like we ran like three marathons yeah it was it was intense especially

00:14:34 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 3:

waking up at five at Kennedy's and then yeah we couldn't even make it out to the second place that you guys went to we were just so we're so tired question for us on uh getting into town did you

00:14:46 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 6:

guys drive in like we like some of us did on Saturday or did you guys go in yeah we we left

00:14:51 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

at about seven in the morning uh from Birmingham and then we made it there round nine nine thirty They let us in pretty early.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 5:

How scared were you during some of those whiteout conditions?

00:15:03 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 6:

I'm not, I don't know. I wasn't that scared because the whole drive up wasn't too bad until we got into Grand Rapids.

00:15:10 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 5:

And then it got crazy.

00:15:11 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 6:

Then it was like, it was crazy in Grand Rapids.

00:15:14 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 5:

Dude, give me what you got because I swear to you, maybe it's the dog. Maybe it's Aries. Maybe I need to get Aries.

00:15:21 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 6:

He loved it. He just passed out in the car the whole time and he woke up and he's like, what's going on? We strapped the necklace on him and we're like, we're going to party, buddy.

00:15:30 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 2:

Put your party pants on.

00:15:32 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 5:

All right. You got to do us a favor, Joe. You got to come out more often and bring Aries with, okay?

00:15:37 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 6:

We will. We will 100% well.

00:15:40 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 5:

All right. Appreciate you, buddy. Of course. Check out and see. We posted pictures with Aries, and it's so funny because I'm looking at this dog going, this dog's got to be, like, really cold. The dog looked warmer than me.

00:15:56 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't know how it is. You didn't drink enough. Oh, I drank it up. I was not cold, I'll tell you that. Really?

00:16:03 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 5:

I drank early. I drank a lot early. And then I kind of like, you know, tapered off a little bit. But I felt like the more that I drank, the colder I got. I think it must be that, you know, I've got like thin blood because I'm older. Is that what it is? I don't know.

00:16:18 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 6:

I'm no doctor, but I feel like that's an act.

00:16:20 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 5:

Although I will say this. I didn't have to go back to my room to go take a nap.

00:16:25 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 6:

I didn't take a nap. Yeah, we need to talk about that. Wait a minute.

00:16:29 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 5:

We'll talk about who was lost. Who was the drunkest? You can actually go see our Instagram post on that and Facebook. Go check it out right now and then find out who was the real drunkest coming up later this morning.

00:16:42 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 3:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:50 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 5:

All right.

00:16:51 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 4:

This was the year that Steve Jobs stepped down as the CEO of Apple. Steve Jobs has resigned as chief executive of Apple, the company he built, just a month after Apple announced astronomical third quarter profits of more than $7 billion.

00:17:06 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we all knew that he was battling cancer. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are splitting this year.

00:17:10 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 1:

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were a long shot to make it. She was 16 years older and had three daughters, while he was a 20-something actor in his professional and hunky prime who never seemed to have a girlfriend for very long.

00:17:21 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 5:

And the big song from Brittany. What year was this? Prizes this week are good. Win tickets to see the Kid Leroy. Got them for you again this week. Good luck. You're smart.

00:17:39 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Prove it. You remember the year the stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Mojo in the morning.

00:17:46 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning.

00:17:47 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 3:

Testing your memory this early in the morning. This is Mojo's Back in the Day. Back in the day, what year did this stuff happen?

00:17:53 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 5:

It was tragic that he was battling cancer, but he had to step down at this time. It was the year that Steve Jobs stepped down as the CEO of Apple.

00:18:00 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 4:

Steve Jobs has resigned as chief executive of Apple, the company he built, just a month after Apple announced astronomical third-quarter profits of more than $7 billion. Demi and Ashton splitting the share.

00:18:14 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 1:

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were a long shot to make it. She was 16 years older and had three daughters, while he was a 20-something actor in his professional and hunky prime who never seemed to have a girlfriend for very long.

00:18:25 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 5:

And the big song from Britney. Kid Leroy tickets again before you head off to school this week, so you got a chance to win. Beatrice, what year was that?

00:18:35 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 3:

2011.

00:18:36 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 5:

It was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:18:41 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 1:

I asked the Demi.

00:18:42 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I remember that, too. That was a big one. That was a big split. We're going to set you up with those tickets. Kid Leroy is going to be at EMU's George Girvin Center on March the 29th. So you've got just a little over a week. Congratulations. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. And everybody excited about Taylor Swift. 00:19:25 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 3:

Motor in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:27 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 5:

It's funny, I don't know where you start today. Today might be one of your busier, dirty days you ever have. I know, I like it. It's always like that on Mondays, but then tomorrow will probably be scarce.

00:19:35 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I'll be talking about someone you're going to go, who?

00:19:39 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we'll be talking about a new TikTok trend or something tomorrow. What you got?

00:19:43 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

TikTok is cool. I know. Bruce Willis' family are wishing him a very happy 68th birthday And a few different Instagram posts I saw yesterday It was really sweet Even his ex-wife Demi Moore posted a video of Bruce celebrating with her And his current wife Emma Hemming His daughters

00:20:00 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 1:

a handful of other family members. They were all singing their happy birthdays. If you weren't aware, Bruce diagnosed with a form of dementia called FTD, frontotemporal dementia, last month. Demi Moore captioned this video, by the way. Happy birthday, BW. So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes. We all feel them. Meanwhile, his wife, Emma, also posted two separate videos on her Instagram marking the occasion. So today is my husband's

00:20:35 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 2:

birthday. I have started the morning by crying. So I worked on this reel that I'm posting for my husband's birthday. I don't know why I do that to myself because the videos are like a knife in my heart. But as much as I do it for myself, I do it for you because I know how much you love my husband and don't cry Emma but it means so much to me so thank you you know it's it's amazing that

00:21:05 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 3:

you know I didn't know much about dementia and Alzheimer's until my brother-in-law got faced with it at 55 years old yeah and we're experiencing the same thing with my brother-in-law where every day is just a blessing but it's so amazing to see the caregivers and I know how strong my sister is And I have no idea, you know, Emma at all. I don't know her, but I just know the work that she's done. I'm going to tell you something, man. Hats off to the family members that are dealing with this. It is a struggle. Yeah.

00:21:37 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I watched my best friend doing it. Yeah. Former President Donald Trump receiving lots of cheers and applause as he attended Saturday's NCAA wrestling tournament in Tulsa, Oklahoma. despite the threat of being arrested over that hush money scheme involving adult film actress Stormy Daniels. That may happen tomorrow. He might be getting arrested. He's smiling and pumping his fists. People went wild as he walked in. Now, in a post on his Truth Social, the former president wrote that he was told an arrest was imminent, but some are now predicting that it's not going to happen tomorrow due to continued battles within the New York Attorney General's office. so we'll see. Allegedly, a Manhattan grand jury will continue hearing evidence today. I know at least one more witness must testify before the panel can deliberate and then vote on a possible indictment. Shawn Mendes denying those dating rumors between him and singer Sabrina Carpenter during an interview for his Tommy Hilfiger clothing lines. He cleared up that one real fast saying they're not dating and being the true spokesman that he is said he thinks there There should be more talk about Tommy Hilfiger than about Sabrina Carpenter.

00:22:48 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, then stop putting out those pictures, Sean.

00:22:52 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Pink sharing in a new interview that her 11-year-old daughter, Willow, doesn't have a cell phone. And she said she will not let her have a cell phone until she can prove that social media is good for you. I love this. pink has challenged her daughter to find a reputable source that says social media is good for people until then no cell phone for you little one and she said even though she doesn't want her daughter to have a cell phone she did admit that she tries to use like a fine line between coddling her kids and preparing them for adulthood so this is this is willow's first piece of

Good morning.

00:24:05 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's turn. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

00:24:24 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 3:

5 to 6.55 is coming up here in just minutes. Stick around for that. We'll do a phone scam first. Friday, we played a classic phone scam for Classic Phone Scam Friday. and this is one of those ones where I don't care how many times we play it, I laugh every time. This was when Scott bought a car and then was talking about it so much that his roommates called Spike and said, will you phone scam him? So Spike and Scott's roommates devised a little plan by pulling a fuse out of his car so that his windshield wipers wouldn't work, and then Spike called him and phone scammed him. It's a mojo.

00:25:00 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning Phone Scam. It's Mojo in the Morning Phone Scam. Hello? Hey, how you doing, Buttercup? I'm looking for Scott M... Perfavori. What's that? This is Scott. This is Gregory Strassel from the Toyota Safety Compliance Division. You recently purchased a Toyota Camry. Yeah. There's a small problem with your vehicle there. It's under a possible recall, and we've been asked by the National Highway Traffic Safety Board to contact every new car owner and determine whether or not the new car has been experiencing this problem. You have about five minutes? I'm getting ready for work. The horn and the windshield wipers in your car for your model year have been proven to be defective. And for cars with this problem, Toyota's offering a fix at no charge to you, but it's important that we get a fix because a car without a working horn and wipers compromises the safety of its passengers. If I can just ask you to grab the keys and head down to your car in the driveway or the garage, it should take about 30 seconds. All right. Where's your car now? It's on the street in front of my house. Okay. Let me know when you get there. All right. I'm in the car now. Here's the deal. The car horn is one octave too high and that tone is disabling the wipers in some cars. So we're going to test your car really fast. See if it's part of the recall safety compliance. Okay. You're saying the horn's out of tune? Well, no, it's just the way they made the horn is disabling the wiper. So if you turn on your wipers right now, see if they probably don't work, right? I'm a bitch. They're not working. Okay. Looks like your car needs to be brought in. But let's just confirm and document it here with the audio test. All right. We're about to begin the test. Takes about 30 seconds. And I'll explain what to do as we go along. Okay?

00:26:45 - 00:26:46 | Unknown:

All right.

00:26:46 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 1:

Horn test R482 Alpha Omega Dash Horn 7. Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Right now? Oh, sir, I forgot to mention you can't talk during a test because we're recording it here into the computer and your voice will throw off the computer. We just need to hear only the horn on your end. So I have to start again then. Horn test R-42 Alpha Omega Dash Horn 7 Octopi Delta Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession.

00:27:21 - 00:27:23 | Unknown:

One, two, three.

00:27:24 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 1:

Sir, you spoke again, sir.

00:27:27 - 00:27:27 | Unknown:

Sorry.

00:27:27 - 00:28:40 | Speaker 1:

All right, we'll just start again. Horn test R482 Alpha Omega Dash Octopi Zippy Pinky Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Wait a minute. What was that? I heard another horn. Was somebody honking at you? Well, yeah, I'm on the street and people think I'm honking at them. Ah, great. Okay, we just need to start again because that's going to mess up the test. I can't keep honking at people all day. Well, this will only take 30 seconds if we can just get through it really fast. Horn test R-482, Alpha Omega, Zippy Pinky Delta, Southwest District, Toyota horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Hold in the horn for five seconds. Turn on the headlights. Now honk your horn. Oh, sir. We might be able to fix this over the phone and you won't have to come in. Okay, turn the headlights off. Okay, we need six rapid sounds of the horn. Okay, turn the headlights on. Three long bursts of the horn. Okay, now try the wipers. Are they working?

00:28:42 - 00:28:43 | Unknown:

Can I talk?

00:28:44 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, we're not doing the audio anymore. No, wipers are dead. All right, one more quick one. This should work then. Turn the headlights off and the wipers off. Okay. Okay, now honk five times as if you're counting five seconds. Turn the wipers on. Okay. Now two big honks. Now turn off the wipers. Okay. Turn on the wipers and give me one long honk of the horn again for like five seconds. And then, do, do, do, do, do. What? You know what to do. Do, do, do, do, do. You knew it! Okay, this is the last thing. I want you to hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say, Get out of my lane, buddy. Are you serious? This is the last thing. What is that supposed to do? Trust me, it sounds silly, but if you do it, hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say, Get out of my lane, buddy. Get out of my lane, buddy! A little bit more passion. This is f***ing stupid. I know, you think I have nothing...

00:30:00 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 3:

better to do all day than to call customers who bought our cars and harass them? Get out of my lane, buddy! Okay, perfect. Now turn on the wipers and they should be working. No, they're not. Oh, wait, I'm sorry. That's because I don't work for Toyota. This is Spike from the Mojo on the morning show. You've just been phone scammed.

00:30:18 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, dude, I'm not going to work.

00:30:24 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 3:

Your roommate Paul just made a complete ass out of you. You asshole.

00:31:21 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 6:

Great.

00:31:22 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 1:

How are you? Excellent. Say hello to your challenger, Tara, from Ohio, who, it says, works here at Gordon Food Service. Hi, Tara.

00:31:32 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how are you?

00:31:33 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 1:

Good. Laura, Tara, Tara, Laura, hello.

00:31:38 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 6:

Hello. Hello, Laura.

00:31:39 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 1:

Nice to have you here. It says here that you're taking your son to the bus stop. Are you the mom that lets him sit in the car and be warm, or are you the mom that lets him go out there and freeze his buns off?

00:31:50 - 00:31:56 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'm the mom that lets him sit in the car, and honestly, my other four kids come stand by the car too.

00:31:57 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 1:

Man, I'll tell you what. I needed you at our bus stop when I was a kid. My parents told me it builds character. Yeah, did it build character?

00:32:05 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 6:

We had to walk two miles uphill. Right, exactly.

00:32:09 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

We're locking you up, Laura, in a soundproof area. Good luck to both of you guys. Nice to have both of you on. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one, Tara, over the weekend, former President Donald Trump said that he's getting arrested tomorrow over an alleged hush payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels? What number president was Trump? Was he A, 44, B, 45, or C, 46? 45. Question number two. Bruce Willis' family posted a video yesterday of everyone singing happy birthday to him as he celebrated his 68th birthday. Even his actress ex-wife posted a video. What's her name? Demi Moore. 00:33:06 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay, pass on that one. Question number four, this good-for-you singer just became the first female on Instagram to surpass 400 million followers. Three seconds. What's the question? What's the question?

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you're asking who she is.

00:33:24 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, who she is. This good for you singer became the first female to surpass 400 million followers on Instagram. I'll give you another second.

00:33:32 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I have no idea. Honestly, my daughter would.

00:33:34 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Question number five. Actor Lance Reddick, best known for his roles in The Wire and John Wick, passed away. Who plays John Wick in that movie franchise? Keanu Reeves. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. How do you think you did, Tara?

00:33:55 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I did terrible. I did, like, maybe three out of five.

00:33:58 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're right. You did three out of five. We'll see if you're terrible or not.

00:34:01 - 00:34:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't think that that's necessarily terrible. I just don't think it's enough to beat Laura, our champion. Here you go. Question number one, Laura. Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump said that he's getting arrested tomorrow over an alleged hush payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels. What number president was Trump? Was he A, 44, B, 45, or C, 46?

00:34:25 - 00:34:26 | Unknown:

45. Yes.

00:34:27 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

One to one. Question number two. Bruce Willis, his family, posted a video yesterday of everyone saying happy birthday to him as he celebrated his 68th birthday. Even his actress ex-wife posted a video. What's her name?

00:34:41 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 3:

For me more. Yep.

00:34:43 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 1:

Two to two. This is where it got tough for Tara. Question number three. Taylor Swift kicked off her tour this weekend in Glendale, Arizona. What's the name of her tour?

00:34:57 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 6:

I don't know.

Actor Lance Reddick, best known for his roles in The Wire and John Wick passed away. Who plays John Wick in that movie franchise? Three seconds.

00:35:54 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 2:

00:35:57 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Keanu Reeves is the answer. Oh, my goodness. We have a new champion. We got a new champion. Yes. Tara, you won. Congratulations to you. Oh, my gosh. Tara, you thought there was no chance.

00:36:16 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 2:

I know. Honestly, I'm going to be completely honest.

00:36:19 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 1:

I really only called him because I wanted the Comic-Con ticket.

00:36:22 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know what? Well, can I be honest? They're not the prize this week, so you don't get those. So, yeah. So, no Comic-Con this week, but I'm sure we'll have Comic-Con coming up again. Look what we got for you, Laura. Laura, the prize this week for the parting gift, we're going to set you up with a $50 gift card to Red Robin. So, that will be the gift. So, you go to Red Robin. I was talking about that. It always makes everything more comforting when you eat Red Robin, okay?

00:36:53 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:36:54 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 3:

Laura, you were great. You were on with us. You won four. You were on with us five mornings, and you were fun to be with. And now we get to know you, Tara. So, Tara, get ready. We're going to have some fun.

00:37:05 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 1:

You left my son speechless.

00:37:07 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Listen, I'll tell you what. You go through, and you win, and maybe get towards double digits, and we'll make sure he gets Comic-Con tickets, okay?

00:37:16 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to play hard.

00:37:18 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 3:

All right. Play hard. Tomorrow. We'll see you then.

00:37:20 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. Five, five, five.

00:37:28 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 3:

Hello, Joe. In the morning. Happy first day of spring. And actually, it's cold right now, but it's going to warm up this week to get into the 50s, which is nice. Actually, today's not going to be bad. We'll have sunshine in. And if that sun shines, we will definitely get into the 50s. And then as the week goes on, we do have a mixture of snow coming back with rain, but it doesn't look horrible. But first, so I didn't realize that spring started this early, March 20th. I guess, what, we got opening day coming up here very soon for all of our teams. So that will be a sign of the first day of spring. And usually that opening day in every city, whether it be in Detroit, Grand Rapids, or Toledo, is either a hit or miss. It can either be great or not. Did you fall off your chair when I mentioned that?

00:38:21 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 1:

No, there's all of a sudden a cord behind me, and I was stuck. Oh, you got stuck? Are you okay? Yeah, no, I'm stuck.

00:38:26 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 3:

All right. Making sure. All of a sudden, I just heard. I hear loud noises sometimes in my head, so I don't know if necessarily that, but then I saw you. No, this studio is so unsafe.

00:38:36 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 1:

I literally have wires hanging over my knees, and then there were wires hanging under my chair.

00:38:41 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's probably cleaner than the asbestos in the walls. Right. So to be honest with you, one of some ways we'll hurt ourselves with this studio, that new studio cannot come too soon.

00:38:54 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

I was watching Shannon and I thought, is she still drunk from the weekend?

00:38:58 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 3:

Were you drunk?

00:38:59 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, were you drunk over the weekend?

00:39:00 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, Saturday, I had a lot to drink. And then I kind of slowed down. And then later in the evening, like late in the evening before bed, I drank more.

00:39:11 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I just kept going. Wait, you drank more at, in your room?

00:39:15 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 1:

No, we got, Wes all of a sudden was really super hungry at night, my fiance. And so we went out so he could get like a proper dinner. And so as he was eating, I'm like, well, I'm not really that hungry. So I was just drinking.

00:39:29 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:39:29 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 1:

Sitting next to him.

00:39:31 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, guy, because I was like, wow, you had alcohol in your room too.

00:39:34 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Well, I did have alcohol in my room.

00:39:36 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Did you bring it from my home?

00:39:38 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh.

00:39:39 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 2:

She came with a little fanny pack full of airplane bottles to the party. You're like, Shannon brings cake to the birthday party.

00:39:47 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 3:

You know why Wes was hungry?

00:39:49 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 2:

Why?

00:39:50 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

The man talks so much that at dinner, I sat next to him, and I loved every minute of it. And I actually told you this.

00:40:00 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 1:

the studio just a second ago I started having food envy because I ate my salad so fast and I got a salad because I was trying to behave myself but I needed to have more than a salad so I look and he's got his tacos sitting there and I'm like he has not touched his tacos and the reason why he had been talking from the moment that we sat down until the end and I thought to myself I'm

00:40:22 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 8:

like whoa this makes sense now he was very hungry and then he had to go out he had to go out I got He went to the restaurant and he said, you want... Had a burger at night.

00:40:29 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 2:

He offered me his tacos. He said, here, you want some tacos? I haven't touched him. And I'm like, why haven't you touched him? Like, we've been all starving all day and you haven't eaten. Now I realize why. He was just talking that stuff. He's also a dancing machine.

00:40:39 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm just realizing it's the first meal I've ever had with Mojo where I ate my meal because he wasn't interviewing me. I didn't have to eat.

00:40:46 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 1:

Now I know what you go through. That was what I was like. I will say this, too. The man does not dress for the occasion. It was so cold on Saturday, and he wore a sweatshirt.

00:40:58 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 8:

He wore a sweatshirt because he's been traveling for the past two weeks, and so he had a coat that was like, you know when you go home from a trip and sometimes your clothes just stink? And his jacket smelled, so I had thrown it in the washer and dryer and then hung it up to dry. We get to Grand Rapids, and we're unpacking in the hotel room, trying to throw on our stuff really quick so we could meet you guys, and he's like, where's my coat? Where's my coat? I'm like, I don't know. Did you grab it? It was hanging up in the laundry room. you didn't grab my coat for me I'm like hey Smith you're not even married yet he's already doing that you can grab your own coat

00:41:30 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 1:

wow so it's his fault when did he realize his coat was not there

00:41:34 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 8:

when he went to put it on in the hotel room

00:41:36 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 1:

oh my god in Grand Rapids oh my god that's crazy yeah it was cold we posted up on our social media a ton of pictures from this weekend a ton of videos we got all kinds of stuff for you to see from the weekend but one of the things that has been trending this morning that you can go uh go check out is who was going to be the drunkest who got lit at the at the party um and hold on a second i'll i'll i'll play for you my name's mike and i think uh

00:42:04 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 5:

megan's gonna get the most on time yeah hey it's megan um i'm double fisting so it's probably gonna be me but also mojo is the biggest leg weight so i think mojo is gonna be

00:42:18 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 1:

drunkest today. This was done early in the... Probably me. Hi, my name is Mojo, and Spike's

00:42:26 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 2:

going to be the most drunk tonight. Hi, I'm Spike, and I think Shannon is going to be

00:42:35 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 8:

the drunkest tonight. I'm Shannon, and I think it's going to be me. Yeah, right. So we went

00:42:44 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 1:

through everybody everybody said something Lydia said something Lydia

00:42:48 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 6:

okay we even had Wow another vote for Megan that's Kate from sales now what

00:43:13 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Was she truly the drunkest, though?

00:43:15 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

I'll say, first of all, KP produced that, and it was very well done. And second of all, KP was the drunkest. Yes.

00:43:22 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 6:

Yes. She edited that.

00:43:25 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 2:

It was not Megan at all.

00:43:27 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 6:

It was so funny when KP was like, can you edit this? I was like, what do you mean, babe? Why is it me?

00:43:36 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 3:

No, I realized the next morning, I'm like, shoot, I didn't end the video. I didn't film the drunkest person now knowing it was me that was the drunkest person. That's why I couldn't film it.

00:43:45 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 8:

I had conversations with you. I'm wondering if you even remember. Do you remember cornering me in the bathroom with your friend? Oh, that was a good corner. And you were like, Mom Shannon, I need your advice. And I said, what?

00:43:56 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 1:

You called her Mom Shannon? Yes, you did.

00:43:59 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 8:

No, I didn't. Yes, you did.

00:44:00 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 7:

You are drunk at a tissue level.

00:44:02 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 8:

It was so funny.

00:44:03 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So what was, do you remember what the question was that she asked?

00:44:07 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 8:

It was actually for your friend. You wanted advice for your sweet friend who was with you. I'm freaking drunk.

00:44:12 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you did. You got the drunkest, and we knew that you got drunk because you were walking around a restaurant eating a cheeseburger with one hand. Which was mine.

00:44:22 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 7:

You gave it to me. I did.

00:44:24 - 00:44:29 | Speaker 1:

Not even at a table, but just walking around. And it was a big cheeseburger. It was not like a little McDonald's burger.

00:44:29 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 8:

She needs some food in her stomach.

00:44:32 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 1:

And then you went to your hotel room, and you passed out in the hotel room.

00:44:35 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 3:

I did not. I took my friend back to the hotel, and she passed out, and I stayed up editing videos because you told me a very offensive comment at the bar that we were at.

00:44:45 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

What did I say?

00:44:45 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 3:

You said, I'm so tired of making these TikToks, I never see you post them. So I edited the video. That was my task when I got back, and I posted not one.

00:44:55 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Wow, so in your editing was actually not bad on these things with...

00:45:00 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 5:

with being drunk here's the here's the thing you guys think i was drunk i was just happy like when i'm here i'm like hyper focused work mode when i am not at work i am like i feel like i'm way more

00:45:15 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 2:

fun it's funny because i've said to you sometimes around the station the kp is our new producer if you've not met her you can go check out kp up on our social media and see what what she looks like and what she's all about but i'll um i've said to you before here at the station i go you don't seem like you're happy. You don't ever smile. Well, you get in serious mode here at the station. Now I know what the deal is. We need to do live broadcasts all the time and get you hammered. We're getting hammered. You know? Oh, not hammered. Happy, she said. I'm going to start using that.

00:45:45 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm just happy, officer.

00:45:47 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The happiness comes out when you have a little bit of alcohol. It's truth juice,

00:45:53 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 5:

right? It is, indeed. And it makes things

00:45:55 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 2:

good for you. What do you drink, by the way? What was your drink of choice?

00:45:59 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 5:

I would drink anything, but at the broadcast, I had a Moscow Mule. I had a couple of those. Oh, wow. And then I had a couple shots. I had a white tea shot, actually. Oh, like three of those.

00:46:11 - 00:46:12 | Unknown:

I can't remember the exact amount.

00:46:13 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Was it a white tea or the green tea one? It was a white tea.

00:46:14 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 5:

I could go for either. Yeah.

00:46:16 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 2:

Is there tea in those shots? I don't think there was. It didn't give me any energy, but it definitely did give you a little bit of drunk.

00:46:24 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 5:

I got nervous, though, because I gave you my phone to film your part of the TikTok, And you're like, I'm going to go do it in the bathroom. And you were sitting on the toilet. I'm like, I cannot leave that man alone, locked in a bathroom with my phone.

00:46:37 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 2:

That might have been how that might have been how many beverages you had that you actually let me take it into the bathroom. Yeah.

00:46:43 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 5:

I was about to bust into that men's room and be like, get out of here.

00:46:47 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

You left us at dinner and then we rallied and went to another bar and we didn't see you there. And then people started to disperse. It was like nine o'clock at night.

00:46:57 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 5:

did you go back out or yeah did you oh yeah where'd you go uh i don't know we went to we went to this place called the steel cat bar i think it was like a hole in the wall bar because the line to get in everywhere like it was crazy downtown grand rapids so long so we went to a different place and just hung out there sam and i ended up leaving sam is your friend that you brought with yeah sam is my really good friend i picked her up i had a vent in the i'm sorry i had to swallow i was just talking so much um still drunk dry mouth i had an event in uh detroit in the morning and then i went picked her up and drove to grand rapids and then we had a great

00:47:36 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 2:

fun night and then went out and then it was good so it was great yeah so so by the way i just want you to know kp that uh that you you might have won as the drunkest but i truly think later this morning we've got somebody that was a good stiff competition for you that i will have to bring up Messier drunk.

00:47:54 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 5:

I think I came in second. Yeah.

00:47:56 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 1:

So we'll figure out exactly who that is coming up. Producer KP, welcome to this show. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

00:48:09 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 2:

So it was actually a fun weekend, but I got to be honest, and I'm going to bring this up, and I'm going to sound like a party pooper on this one. I didn't have as much fun. And I think that the reason I didn't have as much fun at the Saturdays Irish on Ionia was because if you ever go out with a group of people and you have more than five or six or seven or maybe eight, maybe eight is enough, it becomes a kind of a hassle because there's too many people. And we have already a big show. So we've got myself, Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike, KP, Lydia, and we didn't even have Katie come with us on this thing. But we had, you brought a friend, KP, you just mentioned Sam, Shannon had her fiance, Spike had his girlfriend there, and it became all these people. And then that guy, Adam, that lives in West Michigan, and he's a listener to the show, that guy was with us. And it just became too many people. Like, it became so many people that it got to a point where I felt like we were, you know, constantly, like, not being able to, like, spend time with people. I think I spent more – I did spend more time definitely with Megan and with Lydia, who you guys, like myself, didn't bring anybody with you.

00:49:32 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was going to say, I think the reason that we kind of banded together was because we didn't have people with us. I didn't know everybody was bringing people.

00:49:42 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 2:

Would you have brought your brother if you would have thought that?

00:49:44 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 4:

Probably not. I don't like him that much.

00:49:48 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

I want to ask the listeners this. If the listeners, your thoughts on this. If you work for a company and you travel for work and you guys get to go away to do trips and stuff like that, do your company say no?

00:50:00 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 3:

to spouses because we have done both we have brought significant others with and then we have not brought significant others and i feel like the trips that we've done where we go on morning show boot camp or we've done iheart radio music festival and it's just us we spend so much more time together we you know do honestly one of the big reasons i didn't want to stay in west michigan and i was gonna stay and then i thought i'm not gonna stay but then i thought to myself i felt like a third wheel and it was weird for me to stay and then be by you know be by myself because i didn't have anybody with me and so i thought to myself i'm like you know what i'm just gonna go home and i'll sleep in my in my bed what are your guys thoughts on that i know you guys had fun i

00:50:41 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 4:

mean in oh yeah we're with people well i follow your lead on that like we when we started talking about planning irish on union back in january you said you were bringing chelsea oh i did not oh yeah yeah and here in this spike i never did spike she was never gonna come and actually last

00:50:56 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 3:

week, Megan was trying to convince her to come. No, Chels doesn't come with me to stuff, and the reason she doesn't come is I have learned through a long time in marriage that it is too hard to make your significant other entertained and be able to take care of the listeners. That it's very hard to try to spend as much time with the listeners as you possibly can and focus on them when you're worried about making sure that your significant other is not getting bored listening to all the radio talk and talk about the show and stuff like that.

00:51:25 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 4:

So, I mean, I could be mistaken, but this is back early when we first started planning. You said you were bringing her that she hadn't been. I don't remember if you said she hadn't been to Grand Rapids before to check it out or she wanted to hang with Mike and Allie. But I but that's where I was like, oh, OK, so we're like we're bringing people then. So that's when I invited Megan, which I also needed to designate a driver because we were going Friday right from my second broadcast. So it was a long day. So I was glad that she took the day off of work to drive me. But no, I was just following your And you also told us you were You were going to invite other radio people From the other company that were going to meet up With us out there Yeah, Michelle and Greg were going to meet us at our broadcast So I just got the vibe like Oh, this isn't just a morning show hang thing Because we've done that We've done both with, like you said With the iHeartRadio Music Awards Sometimes you would bring Chelsea So then I would invite my wife And then sometimes we wouldn't

00:52:18 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 3:

I actually, I don't I mean, I do I've never bring Chelsea. I really don't.

00:52:24 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 4:

Not usually, but you have before.

00:52:26 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 3:

I've even said this before. And listen, it's not because of Chelsea. It's not because of Chelsea. I don't want Chelsea to come. I'll be honest with you. Chelsea actually says it feels like work. You're not working when you're bringing somebody, when you're bringing me and you're having to entertain me. And she then feels like she's like a nuisance for that to happen. But I feel like it would be so great for us as a show to get to spend time together and it just be us. And what I realized and where it became kind of a pain in the butt was when we were trying to figure out if we were going to go get something to eat or not go get something to eat, we literally were talking like, well, we're going to have to do like the early bird special somewhere because there's no way we're getting into a restaurant if we don't do four o'clock.

00:53:09 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 1:

You guys are all jerks because I said last week, I'm going to make a reservation at this place. Should I do it? and people are like me for how many people i was gonna make it for 10 yeah i was going to make it for 10 people at that rooftop place and then nobody got back to me i'm like okay and the other

00:53:24 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 3:

thing too is the hardest the hardest part actually it was funny because i actually said to spike's girlfriend i'm like i've got to eat or this is not going to happen and we don't go now we're not going to do it and she looked at me and she goes she said something to me and i think she was she had a little bit of cocktail oh yeah she was drunk she looked she looked at me and she goes maybe you should just go get something to eat and we'll catch up with you later with a six pack and I said to her I go okay I think I will do that I will end up leaving and going to get something to eat but it was tough and honestly I don't know thoughts on this Megan how do you feel when it becomes because I don't want it to become a situation where it's like I'm putting it on you but I was thinking about this with you and Lydia and myself kind of hanging together and we did spend a lot of time together we actually did get to to chit chat and talk and stuff like that um but do you think that

00:54:15 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

we should do a trip where it's just oh yeah and i i love the significant others i i don't want it to be like that but we can have nights out for that yeah for sure and i'd rather have like local nights out for that where we can get really sloppy and all go home but i do think well first of all i didn't know everybody was bringing significant others i was definitely left out of this conversation i was like oh i would have brought a friend like i straight up didn't know um but yeah yeah i just i don't know it felt like i didn't get to spend any time with you guys and i'm the kind of person where i never get to spend time with you because i'm on my own little island here in toledo anyways so i was we were all together though yeah we were all together the whole day i think this was a good one for us to bring significance hints to, but

00:55:00 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 4:

I definitely think there are ones when we shouldn't, and it should be the show. But this was like a party. We only had obligations for two hours, so I just thought, like, this is a great chance for, like, the big, big Mojo family to hang out together. You know, I think something like an iHeartRadio music festival definitely should just be the show. I think that's, I mean, and I've done both. Obviously, when I was married, I had Andrew with me at everything, and then for five years, six years, I came solo. And honestly, I have fun both times. But I do think that if we are going to, you know, designate something to just be the show, we need to make that very well known. We didn't talk about that before. I think the next ones we do, I'm going to do that.

00:55:38 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Mike. I did hang most of the time with just you guys. My wife didn't come to the very end. No. My wife came for dinner and then drinks afterwards.

00:55:44 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

And actually, that was, you know, and I think you even kind of felt weird asking her to come out. Because I kept asking, where is she? Where is she? And you said she's not going to come out until maybe later.

00:55:54 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, I asked Mike earlier, too. Like, is Allie coming? And he said, yeah, she's going to meet us after, like, you know, after the drunk tent stuff because she's pregnant and shouldn't be in a big beer tent full of idiots. But, like, she met us for dinner afterwards. I was just following everybody's lead. If I knew you wanted to be, we didn't really talk about it, but Megan didn't have to come.

00:56:11 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

I think this, no, this is what we're going to do. And it's not Megan or Wes or anything like that or KP, your friend. It's just in general. I realized when I was there, kind of, and the other thing, too, is we're going backstage. That security guard wanted to kill us with the amount of people that were going backstage. like that was kind of his they were like how many people are coming back here but i think that we next time that we do something we should do it just with the group uh no you know no significant others and then everything stays within the group but do we really think that we were going to be

00:56:40 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 3:

in the mindset to have heart to hearts like i can't even remember what happened yesterday well

00:56:45 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 2:

no but you're going to get to hang out with people and you get to you get to learn more about it i think it's better when we forget everything that happened well because again you were you were over served no isn't that funny how that happens over served is the word for that um but no and i think that listen listen i had fun it was a really good time i thought earlier in the day it was great it was a lot of fun and then the this is the thing i give you the the to relate on when you go into a restaurant with 17 people or ever try to get 17 people a table and then you feel bad because others don't have a table like i felt horrible when you guys walked in and like you know you guys are standing there i'm like does anybody want to sit here and you can eat like let's switch

00:57:27 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 1:

places well you disappeared we were back we were doing the stage stuff and then i was like where is everybody and then and then um lydia messaged and said uh we're come here we're at the uh brick and porter come guys come on by so i was like oh okay so i thought you had a big table or you know i wouldn't have crowded if i knew there wasn't room but we we could have made reservations like You said last week that Mike was making our accommodations and everything. I interact, too. Is it Mike's fault?

00:57:55 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

Mike, did you not make it? No, because I'm a planner, and I would have planned it. No, I did. I got us a great...

00:57:59 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't. It wasn't on me. That isn't on me. I got us the Grand Rapids Brewing Company stuff. I told you that. That wasn't me. We were all supposed to be looking for a place to go to dinner. Which I had one. Mike's fault. No, Mike. It's Mike City. It's Mike's fault.

00:58:14 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 2:

is that when we when you come to detroit now let's do this let's do a trip to toledo so that

00:58:21 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

megan has to plan it we blame megan for everything that goes wrong i just i just moved to tampa weird

00:58:27 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 2:

all right so here's the deal so i'm gonna i'm gonna be better at speaking up and say that the next one that we do the next uh uh shenanigans that we have which i don't even know when that is or what it's going to be but the next shenanigans we have we're going to have it solos uh just everybody here just the group and uh and then we all share one room together

00:58:50 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 1:

honestly honestly i'm gonna say i'm gonna say this to you when we first started the show

00:58:59 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 2:

that was the kind of thing like our trip oh yeah and we we did go on a lot of trips or do a lot of stuff together and it was always just like you know the people that were on the show at the time And I will never forget the night that we all stayed in one room. The guy stayed in one room. The girl stayed in the other. Girls meeting that was what?

00:59:17 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 1:

Actually, I was in the girls' room. I know. The company was so cheap. But, no, we've done everything where we've done big trips, festivals, where we've taken show and interns and everybody. And then we've done it where just the three of us. And I like all of them. I don't care what we do.

00:59:32 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good. So you have a significant other. And good for you.

00:59:36 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 2:

No, but I was your significant other on Saturday.

00:59:39 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 1:

But we were all still hanging together. I don't know why you feel like we weren't hanging.

00:59:44 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 2:

Megan and I were together, and it was just like being in a marriage because we hung together all night, and I got no sex from her at the end of the night.

00:59:51 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, it was bickered the whole time.

00:59:52 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 2:

And we did. We argued. We told each other to F off like five or six times.

00:59:57 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

We really did.

00:59:58 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

It was pretty amazing. And it ended with ice cream.

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 3:

at the end of the night of Kilwins.

01:00:01 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 4:

If we do a show and we stay in the hotel, as long as there's more than one bathroom for the show poops, because I can't stand all you guys. Oh, my God. How many times do we go to the bathroom?

01:00:09 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 3:

And then the other one was poor Adam. Adam, you know what? You're a great guy, but I'm going to give you a little crap right now. I had to go to the bathroom so bad, and I had to go up, and you guys all just left and left me with Adam. All of a sudden, I'm getting ready to get out of the elevator. I go, what are you doing? And he goes, I'm going to go with you. And I said, Adam, I got to go to the bathroom. He goes, well, I can just hang in the room with you. And I'm like, you're not hanging in the room with me. What? I said, you stay right here. I was like, I felt like I was dealing with my dog. Sit. Stay right there. Do this whole thing. You can't come watch me duty. You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to go around the office today. I'm going to follow him. And right when he's about to go in the bathroom, I'm going to go in with him. Go in with him. You have to.

01:00:52 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:00:55 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon's got the Dirty on the 30. We're going to see what's trending right now. What a weekend it was, Shannon.

01:01:01 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 1:

It was a big weekend, especially if you were a 50 and you went to her Arizona show. She kicked off her Ares tour over the weekend in Arizona in Glendale, a.k.a. Swift City, for the weekend. And man, did she deliver. Made that Ticketmaster debacle worth it to the fans who were lucky enough to score tickets. And it was truly a journey through all of her musical eras. Ten albums. She did 44 songs in a show that ran for more than three hours. Wow. Many, many costume changes. Lots of glitter. Lots of sequins. Lots of fringe. And some really happy Taylor Swift fans. The show is getting just massive amounts of praise. Incredible reviews. Headlines are calling it triumphant and unbelievable. I know she broke down in tears at the end of her show and told the crowd, I cannot believe this is happening to me. And the crazy part is, three hours long, that many songs, she's doing that show 51 more times. I mean, that show is, that tour is scheduled into August.

01:02:02 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 3:

Do you think she'll change it up or it will be the same tour?

01:02:04 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 1:

She already changed it up slightly. I know she does like a surprise song at the end of the night. That's going to change. I'm told her set list might change ever so slightly as well. It can't change much because it's so choreographed. Yeah, I don't know how much it's going to change. And I heard people talking about how, like, not since the days of, like, Bruce Springsteen and the peak of his career, did you see one artist pack so much into just one show? And it was funny because I know, like, there are so many artists in the industry that are huge Taylor Swift fans. One of them was in Detroit on Friday night, Kelsey Ballerini, who she actually stopped her show to ask for an update on Taylor's show. Listen to this.

01:02:46 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 4:

level with you for a minute is anyone stalking the era store hasn't started i'm gonna stalk it after this but i have one question has she's is cruel summer on the set list wow that's that that's my super bowl i gotta be honest all right wow that's all i need to know she promised she was going to do songs from every

01:03:11 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 2:

album, like you said, she did. She did. And it's, I mean, that's tough when you have 10 albums. So it's, I guess that's why it's called the Heiress Tour, but you got to get there early for those Detroit shows because if you think you're like, oh, let's drink until the opening accident, you're going to miss the beginning of Taylor Swift.

01:03:27 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 4:

And also, Paramore is her opener. Yeah. That's great. That's a huge opener.

01:03:32 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. Worth it. In Other Dirty this morning, actor Lance Reddick, famous for his work on HBO's series The Wire. Also, he was in the John Wick movie franchise. He has died.

01:03:47 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 4:

How good to see you again so soon, Mr. Wick. Do you bored? I'm sorry to say so, but this facility does not. I, however, would be willing to accept the responsibility.

01:03:59 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 1:

He's only 60 years old, and I don't really have many details on his cause of death. It is kind of a mystery at this point. Law enforcement say that his body was discovered as California home on Friday morning. They're saying it looks like just death by natural causes. He's been very busy on a press tour for the fourth installment of the John Wick franchise. I know he had a guest appearance scheduled for this week on Kelly Clarkson's show, but yeah, sad news there. Bad Bunny fans think he took a shot at Phoenix Sun star Devin Booker in his new song. Booker dated Bunny's new girl, Kendall Jenner, for like two years. In one verse of the song And it's in Spanish So or else I would play it for you But he says I'm not bad baby That's a gimmick But the Puerto Rico sun Is warmer than the one in Phoenix So definitely a subtle Little jab there Devin Booker did find out About the song And apparently commented He's worried about another man Again on Instagram

01:04:54 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

And Devin I think he's got a new girl too I think I saw that Something on NBA today Yeah Yeah I think I did too

01:04:59 - 01:05:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:05:00 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, an L.A.-based meteorologist fainted during a live broadcast. This is super scary to watch. I'm posting it right now, in fact, on the dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. Allison Carlson Schwartz was helping L.A.'s KCAL team kick off the newscast really early Saturday morning. But before she could even get into her report, and I'm going to play it for you here, you see her eyes roll into the back of her head. She begins to lean forward on the desk, and eventually she completely collapses.

01:05:29 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 1:

Who is ready for some sunshine? I know I am. Let's start off with a check of your next weather with meteorologist Alyssa Carlson. She joins us live in the studio. Alyssa, this really is the calm before the storm. Not again. No. Oh.

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez.

01:05:45 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 1:

You know, we're going to go ahead and go to break right now.

01:05:48 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 3:

We'll be right back. A similar thing happened a few years ago. She threw up on set during a weather report and collapsed. And she was eventually diagnosed with a leaky heart valve. She had a heart issue. Oh, my gosh. So she posted on Facebook this past weekend after that incident to let everybody know she is going to be okay. She is recovering from a head injury, but she said she's thankful it wasn't her heart again this time around.

01:06:08 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 5:

Did you hear how her heart got fixed?

01:06:10 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:06:10 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 5:

She was pregnant, and they believe that the leaky heart valve corrected itself because of the help of the baby. That's incredible. Isn't that wild? Yeah. She's definitely, I'm sure, going to go see the doctor on that because that's one of the things that they said to me when I had the potential of a heart aneurysm and that possible that the risk of being, you know, just completely fine and then fainting could happen at any moment. Tragic.

01:06:35 - 01:06:38 | Speaker 3:

Thanks. Have a great day. And we got another chance coming up at 8.30 this morning. On the way still, phone scam, second date update. Stick around. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. So Megan did something before she went to Grand Rapids that was very, very safe. Or was it for her to do? What did you do, Megan?

01:08:23 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 2:

So I have been kind of slowly dying on the inside. And what I mean is I've ignored all of my responsibilities to keep myself alive for as long as possible. The past two weeks, I have probably, I'm not kidding you, two weeks total slept maybe 20 hours. Wow. I don't sleep throughout the night. I don't, or I was out in Chicago having a really fun time just being an absolute mess of a human being. And I think it really started to catch up with me because on Friday, we did the broadcast in Detroit and we were going straight to Grand Rapids. And as I was driving over, I started doing the scary head bob, you know, where you like have to roll down all your windows and start blaring your music and you're like, I'm fine. I'm fine. At one point, I even pulled over at a rest stop, and I just walked around for, like, three minutes. I was, like, hyping myself up. Like, you got this. We're going to make it. We're only, like, an hour from Grand Rapids. We got this. We got this. I get back in the car. I was like, we do not have this. Just like anything in life. This is not going to make it. And so I decided, you know what? This isn't safe anymore. I pulled over, and I slept at a truck stop for three hours. Oh, wow. I mean, good for you, but man, you needed to sleep. And when I woke up, I didn't set an alarm or anything, because I was like, I'm only going to sleep for like a half hour. I just need a quick little power nap. Three hours later, I'm like, what year is it?

01:09:53 - 01:09:53 | Unknown:

Wait a second.

01:09:54 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Megan, you have always said you aspire to be a lot lizard. You were a lot lizard for three hours.

01:10:00 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 4:

Bro, I was laying down the foundations, and to your point, Shannon, I think somebody thought I was a lot lizard, because when I woke up, there was a man parked next to me just staring at me.

01:10:10 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

Hopefully your doors were locked.

01:10:12 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 4:

I didn't see any arm movement. I didn't see anything, but I'm not saying it didn't happen, because I am obviously attractive while I'm sleeping in a car.

01:10:20 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Now, if you're a woman who's tired and has to sleep in a lot like that, do you pull up right next to the rest area so that you're in a well-trafficked area? Or do you want to be over in the corner away from everybody so nobody's looking at you? Like, what's your move?

01:10:36 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 4:

Me personally? Yeah. Well, I think there's—a part of me wanted to be where a lot of cars were. Yeah. So, like, if anything happens—

01:10:44 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 2:

You're safer.

01:10:45 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But also, you don't want to advertise to people that you're sleeping.

01:10:50 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:10:51 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 4:

Do you hide? I don't know. I was in a pretty packed spot. But that doesn't stop guys from being weird. And this guy was straight up staring at me.

01:10:59 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's ask the truckers. Truckers, call us up. We're number one with truckers. Where should Megan have slept? And did she sleep in the right place?

01:11:06 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 4:

By the time we got into Tulsa town, we had 85 trucks and all.

01:11:10 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 1:

Megan in the back of the cab. Wouldn't it be great to have a vehicle like that? I've often thought to myself, I would love to have, maybe not a, you know, a semi-truck that has, like, a little bed, you know, right there in the back. But maybe, like, one of those, like, RVs, like a small RV or something to sleep in.

01:11:27 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 3:

I was like, I thought I'd called an RV. Wouldn't it be great? Yeah.

01:11:35 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 1:

Megan and the truckers hanging out there. Did you go inside, by the way, to see if they have any fun things? They always have great gifts in there that you could purchase.

01:11:43 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 4:

Dude, there was a Sherpa blanket that I was really considering buying.

01:11:48 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 3:

It's like the best entire gas station gifts you'll ever get are at those truck stops.

01:11:54 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm telling you, you did that one Christmas, remember, where you bought us gifts? Because you were doing our Breaking and Entering Christmas Wishes and traveling across Michigan and Ohio.

01:12:02 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 3:

It's some of the most random stuff in the entire world, but it's all incredible.

01:12:06 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 1:

It's amazing that you can actually buy, like, everything from a stereo system for your car to toys for your children. It's like the greatest thing ever. Tammy, what's going on, Tammy? Megan slept in a truck stop.

01:12:23 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, my son would do this all the time.

01:12:26 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 1:

Was it safe?

01:12:29 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes, for him for sure. So he would leave, like, say, Detroit area around dinner time-ish and would put in, like, a good, you know, six, eight hours, but, like, two or three in the morning, you're like, okay, you've got to stop. So then he would stop, pull into a truck stop area, and would sleep there just, like, in his car so he didn't have to, like, hotel. because he just needed that two- to three-hour refresher so he could keep going. And it was always easier for him to drive at night because there was less traffic, all of that kind of stuff.

01:12:53 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 1:

I've often wondered, do the little hotels that are on the side of the road ever sell their rooms by the hour if it's not that you're going in with a hooker? I know that you can bring a hooker in there and do that, but I don't know if you can bring a hooker in there, but I hear those stories. Boy, I think I just backed into something there. Rumor happens. Hold on a second. Next caller, please. No, but you know how they have those motels on the side of the road, the roadside motels?

01:13:21 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. They look like they've been there for 200 years, some of them.

01:13:25 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 1:

You know what's great? You ever go to Delta, the Sky Lounge or whatever? They have little areas where you could sleep if you wanted to. Yeah. Do they really? And they should have-

01:13:36 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 3:

Like with beds?

01:13:38 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I believe so. Yeah, there's areas in the airport where if you have a stay, you can actually grab a little sleep. And I think that the Sky Lounge, somebody told me, has it. And I know that there's, like, one place that you can go to. Like, you know those little, like, massage places? I know people will go there and they'll sleep. But that's in the airport. Somebody should invent this off of 96 or 94 or 75 or wherever.

01:14:00 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 4:

I want those pods. Those pod hotels?

01:14:02 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:14:02 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

I want those so bad.

01:14:04 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 1:

It would be so awesome. That'd be like the non-trucker place to go. Amanda, what's going on?

01:14:11 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. How are you?

01:14:13 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Good. You had a question for Megan?

01:14:15 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 4:

I did. Megan, did you run out of gas? No, but let me tell you, I went through a full quarter tank, and all I kept thinking was, gas is $3.50 right now. What did I just do? Oh, my God. I was going to say, are you going to be cold for three hours?

01:14:30 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even think about the fact that you're leaving the car running the entire time, too. Of course I was.

01:14:34 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Which then makes it seem more likely that someone might want to try stealing it. Like, ooh, somebody went inside and left their car running.

01:14:40 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Mine shuts off. So I have this like thing on my Tahoe, which I hate. Like if I'm sitting in a parking lot waiting for, you know, Luke to come out of school or something like that, it will run for a little bit and then it counts down and shuts off on me. And I hate that it does that, you know, because then I got to like start it and move it for a second and then kind of go. But your Jeep doesn't do that.

01:15:00 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 3:

No, that to me is like when an Apple Watch tells you to stand up and move.

01:15:03 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 8:

Hey, mine said seven times earlier. Jennifer, what's up?

01:15:07 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. How are you guys?

01:15:09 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 8:

Good. What's going on?

01:15:10 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 2:

Good. So I used to travel a lot. And when I would travel by myself or even with somebody, I never stopped at a state rest area. You always have to stop at a truck stop because state rest areas are scary places. Yeah. But when you do, you always want to park like by the gas pumps. Never by the truck stops. never by the truckers. That's weird.

01:15:30 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, but aren't the people at the gas pumps going to be upset if you're just sitting there? Well, no, because

01:15:34 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 2:

normal truck stops like that, they have parking spots around everywhere. Oh, okay. You can pull off

01:15:40 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 8:

and go to sleep. See, the rest stops in Ohio aren't creepy. The ones in Michigan are creepy.

01:15:44 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 2:

They are super creepy.

01:15:46 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 8:

Like the ones in Ohio, you don't ever start a Dateline NBC from one of those. But the ones in Michigan, there's a Dateline

01:15:52 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 6:

NBC that starts. Well, because they build in four different restaurants and bathrooms and a Starbucks, and And so you really have a lot of people going in and out. In Michigan, it's usually like a rest stop, like literally vending machines and a 1970s bathroom, and that's it.

01:16:04 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 8:

And some dude trying to pick you up. What's going on, trucker? Derek, what's happening?

01:16:10 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, guys? Megan definitely made the right choice.

01:16:13 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 8:

So she was in the safe spot?

01:16:15 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 4:

Always go to the truck stop. Oh, yeah. You want to stay somewhere well-lit, if anything, but truckers don't really put up with that stuff. Like, the lot lizards exist toward big cities, stuff like that. But for the most part, like, you know, we've always got eyes somewhere around there.

01:16:30 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 8:

Hold on, let me.

01:16:30 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 3:

Less competition, smaller cities. Got it. Derek, let me confer it.

01:16:35 - 01:16:38 | Unknown:

We're not big on the asphalt ash, please, you know.

01:16:39 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That's great.

01:16:42 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 8:

Hold on.

01:16:43 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 4:

A little pavement princess.

01:16:46 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 8:

Trucker Derek, we're adding.

01:16:47 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 4:

I love that he's cracking up at his own jokes, too.

01:16:49 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 8:

We're adding somebody to this call. We're adding Steven to this call. Trucker Steven. Are you there, Trucker Steven?

01:16:55 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, good morning, guys.

01:16:56 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 5:

This here's a rubber duck. You've got a copy on it.

01:16:58 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:17:01 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I was just calling because I travel in 96th a lot towards Grand Rapids from Ohio. What you can do, too, Megan, is you can't pull off on a scale house where you see the truck get off and you have the DOC officers. You can't pull in there because that's a safe haven.

01:17:17 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, are they okay with you sleeping in there? No, no, no. That place is filled with cops. No, no way. No, no.

01:17:24 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 5:

Well, I just figured if you're driving, if you want to drive and, you know, be safe and like that, you can't pull in those other safe havens. So if you need a quick little nap, because they are heavily betrothed, so I would recommend my wife and kids and my daughter to go to there and take a quick little nap up in that area.

01:17:43 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 3:

So that's really good to know, but I sleep in my car more often than I'd like to admit. Do you know how many times a cop has, like, what do you do? Roll down your window. Are you on drugs? I don't need that in my life. I'm just tired. It's dangerous to be driving in this condition, officer. What condition? Tired.

01:18:02 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 8:

Trucker Derek and Trucker Steven, I know you guys don't talk on CB as much anymore, right? You don't do the whole Breaker 1-9 thing?

01:18:07 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 5:

I try. I try my best to keep that tradition alive. I've been driving a truck for 15 years. I try, but it's a shame because a lot of companies don't even have them in there or don't even want them in there no more because they are a distraction. What's your handle?

01:18:20 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 8:

What's your handle on there?

01:18:21 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I just call myself the bearded one.

01:18:25 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 6:

And what's the code? How would you say hot girl sleeping in a Jeep with her mouth open?

01:18:32 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 5:

Well, I would probably say more of a lot lizard probably. A clean version, a clean version.

01:18:40 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 8:

What should Megan's handle be if she got a CB?

01:18:44 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 5:

Beautiful.

01:18:45 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 8:

Oh, Megan. I love the truckers.

01:18:48 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Hot girls love Megan. I love truckers. You are my security blanket when I lose my job. Just know that I'm entering your industry in a sexual way.

01:18:59 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can't just pull up. You can't just pull up. Usually there's an officer outside the scale house. You can just let them know, like, hey, I just need a quick little cat nap. They'll kind of tell you to cop up over there. But, yeah, they're pretty cool. The officers on 96 are actually pretty cool, even for a trucker, because there's four scale houses, so they deal with us all the time.

01:19:19 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 6:

They'd much rather see you rested than driving, falling asleep.

01:19:23 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 8:

Exactly. It's Mojo in the Morning Show, your home of the phone scams. Eden just got laid off. Her company did a little downsizing. Her sister wants Spike to call and ask her to do an exit interview for the company that just fired her. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:19:39 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. mojo in the morning

01:19:49 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 6:

I didn't because I got fired.

01:20:35 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Well, question number two, do you think you were treated fairly at ****?

01:20:41 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

I mean, not really. Like, I did my job and they fired me, so.

01:20:47 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That leads me to question number two, then. Why did you choose to leave ****?

01:20:52 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 3:

again i did not choose to leave um they let me go so oh well i didn't have a place to put a

01:21:01 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 2:

check mark for that i'll just put change of scenery yeah did they not tell you i was laid off oh i'm sorry maybe i'm working off an old list here but that's okay because we could still get your experiences on the survey in just about 60 seconds what were the highlights or the pluses

01:21:17 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 3:

of working here the pay the benefits the promotional opportunities were all great if i was there which i'm not because they made me off all right and what were the minuses

01:21:29 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 2:

they fired me do you think you were treated fairly at you already asked that oh well it's just a standard interview then i have to ask everyone who chooses to leave the company i didn't choose to leave the company do you have any complaints or regrets about leaving yeah they fired me well i've been putting that for all these answers well then i guess the interview's over oh boy i can see i called you at a bad time and you're a little bit crabby is there a better time i can call not really oh boy i only got answers to questions one through five i have 18 more questions to ask i don't think we're gonna do that ted oh my name's terry whatever right funny which actually that reminds me of another reason i'm calling they had a mix up of names and they asked me to tell you that the last paycheck may be delayed until the computer thing gets sorted out are you serious they're gonna have to sort that out a couple people got messed up so it may take an extra six to eight weeks to get your last paycheck oh my god are you me right now i'm sorry yeah it's gonna be a little bit of a headache i imagine we i want to just answer his last 18 questions for me no thank you all right well just remember if you got any paychecks from us in the mail you can't cash those okay what well the ones they're sending you after your termination they have the wrong name you can't cash it, this one either. Eden, this is Spike, and you're on the radio with us right now.

01:23:15 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god. Okay, so my paychecks are

01:23:17 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 2:

delayed. Paychecks are fine. I'm sorry you got laid off. Your sister wanted us to harass you a little bit.

01:23:23 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Great. My sister's just mad I'm getting paid to sleep in.

01:26:55 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 1:

And actually, I will say this, you bring joy, but you also end heartbreak, which is just as joyful because the heartbreak of not being able to have a child is so difficult, and we hear from so many of our listeners the struggles that they've been going through, and you give them great real answers, which is awesome. Well, it's time now to announce our first winners because we're doing three winners. We had thousands of entries, narrowed it down to the top 10, and by the votes, the first winners of Mojo Gives You a Baby 2023, Joshua and Lauren Gronow from Auburn Hills, Michigan. Congratulations, guys.

01:27:37 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 3:

You guys, I'm looking at your photo and your letter. I mean, you guys have been on this journey for four years trying to have a baby. Yeah. That is a long time.

01:27:52 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask you in those four years and multiple rounds and all the different treatments and ideas, did you feel like you came to an end of the road? Did you ever feel like maybe it's just not going to happen?

01:28:04 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 5:

There were times for me where I just wanted to give up. But we always hoped. Yeah.

01:28:10 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 3:

And you said you've been working multiple jobs to try to afford IVF. So this, that we're giving it to you, you know, the opportunity for at no cost is a miracle in itself, right? That's just amazing.

01:28:25 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 1:

Say hello.

01:28:26 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know what to say.

01:28:28 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

Say hello to Dr. Shama.

01:28:30 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Dr. Shama.

01:28:32 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 4:

We're excited to meet you all. Well, congratulations to both of you. I mean, you mentioned in your letter that it will be a miracle. I guess the heavens and all your family were all lined up to make this possible. We had nothing to do with it. I mean, you people chose you. You deserve it. And I'll do my human best to make your dreams come true.

01:28:56 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Shama, can I give you a little bit of details about Joshua and Lauren that I thought were interesting? So we had tens of thousands of entries. I mean, over 10,000 entries. And I don't know if you guys know this, Lauren, maybe you don't know this, but on the entries, you can see who entered. And there were maybe a handful of guys that were entering. They were all pretty much the women that were entering. And Joshua was one of the few that was the guy. And I don't know if it's because he had a better Internet service or what the story was, but Joshua, maybe you can explain this to us.

01:29:36 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 5:

yeah so actually i tried to enter initially my co-worker sent me the link to it and it wasn't letting me create an account so i just mentioned it to josh that like i tried but it wasn't working and we assumed that like we wouldn't win anyway but a couple days later he was like yes i went ahead and entered and we just forgot about it Thank you.

01:30:00 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 1:

a while yeah so so joshua you you know in all the years we've done this the guys feel like i in some cases well guys in general are like this they feel like they're just tag alone you know on this so a lot of times you really want to be a dad just as much as lauren wants to be a mom

01:30:18 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 4:

yeah of course i mean ever since we started dating parenthood having kids It was a big goal and really wanted to be parents and have a family. And knowing that I couldn't give that to her, it's hard. And four years later, hopefully, one step closer, thank you and Dr. Shalma.

01:30:47 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 1:

01:31:32 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, I mean, what am I going to tell you? Thank you for beautiful words Thank you for your kind words And thank you for Michigan To allow me to practice and help surf

01:31:42 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 1:

You're awesome Guys, Lauren and Joshua Please, do us a favor Keep in touch with us, okay guys?

01:31:49 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 4:

Of course, thank you so much Bye, and good luck again, and congrats.

01:31:54 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Shama, we're back on Wednesday again. So Wednesday and then Friday, we're going to pick the next two, okay? All right.

01:32:01 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

Good luck to everybody that has entered.

01:32:03 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 1:

The votes are unbelievable. Thank you to our listeners, because I know it wasn't just family that got these people to win. It was our listeners that just went and said, hey, I want to help them out. Mojo in the Morning Show. So what did Megan do? It was one of those things where I could see you guys like sisters doing the little, I'm going to punch you. You guys were arguing with each other.

01:32:25 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 2:

I think I did threaten to punch you, didn't I? I think you did punch me in the boob. I think I did. You're right. So I really wanted to pay the bill for our dinner, for our group on Saturday. Just because you jerks are very generous and very kind. And I'm talking about Modo and Spike here. And it's usually you guys who will sneak off and pay a bill. And so I'm like, I have got this one. I took my credit card out of my little fanny pack and I like shoved it up my sleeve and pretended I needed to go to the bathroom so that I could catch our waitress who one would think would be easy to find because she was dressed up like a pickle for some reason. I don't know if you guys noticed that, but she was wearing a huge pickle costume maybe because it was green.

01:33:03 - 01:33:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think that was the only green she probably had was the costume.

01:33:05 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 2:

So I followed her like back near the kitchen, you know, to give her my credit card so that you guys wouldn't see that I was doing that. she comes back and she hands me the bill and Megan just got pissed all of a sudden that I had paid the bill and I think did you see the total over my shoulder is that how you knew you didn't not a clue oh okay because all of a sudden I get a Venmo from Megan who by the way is sitting right next to me and I was like why did you do that I'm gonna send it right back to you like this finally is my chance to pay a bill for this crew, you know? So I tried to Venmo her back for the same amount that she Venmo'd me. This girl. Say it. No, no, no. This bitch blocked me before I could even send it back, which I need to learn how to do that. You're going down, bitch! That's great. Blocked me out of Venmo so that I couldn't send it back to her. I didn't know you could do that. That's great. Oh, you can. You have to teach me how to do it because I still can't figure out how. But, yeah, so it was like the sneaky Venmo. And so that's why we were fighting. It was not really for a bad reason. But I'm like, leave me alone.

01:34:19 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 1:

What do couples or what do staff think when people are there at a table and it's a group of people and they are fighting over the bill? Does that annoy the waiters and waitresses? Do servers get that way?

01:34:34 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 2:

I felt like I was annoying her in the first place because I could not find her when we went, you know, back to the bathroom. And so I could see her in the kitchen. So I just kind of walked like a little bit into the kitchen to get her my belt, which I'm sure is definitely not, you know, good hygiene for the restaurant. I'm sure that's annoying, too.

01:34:52 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

But I want to ask this that question. And I also would like to throw this out there, too. if you are somebody that works at a bar or a restaurant,

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 2:

restaurant on Friday for St. Patrick's Day, or maybe even Saturday, what was the most obnoxious

01:35:06 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 1:

customer that you had because of St. Patrick's Day? Oh, I felt so bad for any server, bartender

01:35:14 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 2:

on Friday or Saturday. Oh my God. I mean, there were, well, when we were at Friday at Kennedy's, there were a couple of people there that definitely got over-served, but I wondered how many of that poor, that poor waitress that was trying to walk through the crowd. With a tray of drinks. Wendy. Wendy. Is that Wendy? Yeah. Wendy.

01:35:31 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 3:

And there's literally people that are drunk at 9 a.m. They've already been over served two hours in.

01:35:37 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 2:

And then our waitress at the restaurant that we ate at in Grand Rapids, she was like getting bombarded with huge tables. So we had, I think we had like, what, five or six or something like that at our table. But then there was other tables that we had. But then we had like everybody else show up.

01:35:53 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 1:

We had like 16 people around our table.

01:35:56 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 2:

And then the tables that were next to us Were like that way And then the other thing too is No people will not get up Like we ate and we got out of there We did But there were people that were there for I mean there was one table she told me That was there for like two and a half hours Who goes to a restaurant for two and a half But it was because it was cold

01:36:15 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I think it was because it was so cold And these people have been drinking at the festival for hours So they just wanted to sit and warm up And to the Unfortunately for the servers They weren't getting the tables And they weren't able to rotate through And get more customers And I'm like if you're going to sit there longer You better be paying a lot more to that server

01:36:33 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 1:

Well and also I feel like when it's a situation like that And it's a bunch of people getting together And just having drinks and nachos or whatever And then everyone's like let's split the bill And then the poor waitress or waiter Has like 10 different credit cards To go through when they're slammed anyway

01:36:48 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 2:

Now restaurants are getting smart They won't do that as much anymore Yeah. They'll say that they'll only split it once. They won't split it like four or five times.

01:36:57 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 3:

You as a party should just figure it out. Let one person collect all the money from everybody.

01:37:01 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 2:

I was reading, I don't know, it was a week and a half or two weeks ago where they were talking about how people want restaurants to just be accepting Venmos directly to them. So that's like the thing where people are like, because the majority of people don't carry cash, but also then the majority of people just want a Venmo. And restaurants say that they don't want to do that because the problem is that they get issues with, like, fees and ways to pay it. And it becomes a pain in the arse. What's up, Tay? How you doing? Hey, I'm good. How are you? Good. What's going on? We're talking about when everybody's fighting over the bill. And if you could have seen Megan and Shannon, I don't know. I always thought that Megan could take Shannon. But I think Shannon could have taken Megan.

01:37:47 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 5:

No. Shannon would go down in a heartbeat.

01:37:49 - 01:37:50 | Unknown:

No.

01:37:50 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 5:

Well, I usually just take whoever has the credit card or money out first. Is that it? Which is so annoying because it's a sneak attack. And you don't know that people have been paying for years and you don't even want to eat with them anymore because every time you go out to eat, somebody else picks up the bill and you wouldn't have ordered what you would have ordered. And then you don't eat at all. And then you get very hungry. It is a pit down to my own personal how I hate it here.

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you? I hated her. Do you order differently If you know that somebody's picking up the tab

01:38:20 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes 100% yes And I'm so sick of going out with you I actually hate going out with you guys Because nobody ever lets me pay And I feel like a freaking leech And it's not fun and it's miserable And then y'all are like just get over it No I won't

01:38:37 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Here make it up to us and invite us over for a dinner party

01:38:39 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 5:

No thank you

01:38:40 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 2:

Erica what's up It's Mojo in the morning

01:38:44 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 4:

Good morning I just had a quick story about when I worked at a bar On St. Patrick's Day There was a girl who tried to grab The jar of cash tips from the bar And make a run for it Oh my gosh The doorman grabs a big thing of Cajun seasoning And just dumps it on her head

01:39:02 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome

01:39:04 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 4:

Now it's like a routine thing If anyone does something, we're like, they're going to get Cajuns

01:39:08 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, that's crazy

01:39:11 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 3:

I saw our server running up because somebody got up and she thought they were leaving without paying the tab. And it was funny to me because I felt bad because this place is so crowded. But our server was dressed like a pickle. Like she had a green pickle outfit on, I'm guessing, for St. Patrick's Day. And it's hard to take someone seriously when they're dressed like a pickle. But there she is running. She was real cute.

01:39:32 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 2:

I one time had somebody say to us when we were fighting over the bell, the people at the other table said, it's not enjoyable, obviously, for the staff, But it's even less enjoyable for the people sitting right by you because the people sitting right by you are the ones that are getting the most annoyed by the whole deal because they're having to wait to get whatever it is that they were going to get, you know, their service and stuff.

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what else I wanted to say about us during that dinner is so we ordered like a bunch of appetizers.

01:40:00 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 5:

and one of the things was nachos. And I feel like I was the offender of taking my fork and eating the chunks off the nachos. And I was double-dicking so bad.

01:40:12 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. What she was doing was she was eating the tops off the nachos and leaving the soggy chip that was in there. That was very offensive. My apologies.

01:40:22 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, KP was drunk. She just picked up my fish and ate it right off my plate. Fingers and all.

01:40:27 - 01:40:28 | Speaker 2:

I will tell you.

01:40:28 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 5:

I didn't see that. That's when I gave her half of my burger because I'm like, she needs some food to soak up all that alcohol.

01:40:34 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 2:

That's a sign that you're cute because a guy like me can't just pick off. No, I can't eat somebody's food. If I sit there and I eat somebody's food, then they're like, oh, there he goes again. Fat guy is grabbing it. It's so true.

01:40:47 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 3:

It's so true.

01:40:48 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 2:

The way that she grabbed the burger from you, Shannon, and was just like.

01:40:53 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 5:

She didn't give that to me. No, I did give it. To be fair, I did give it to her.

01:40:56 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

You were holding that thing like Tom Brady, holding a pigskin, and you were ready to throw it to a gronk.

01:41:03 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 4:

And I was conversational, so I could even see the burger in my mouth.

01:41:06 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's going on?

01:41:07 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 1:

You're right, Mojo, because also when KP and her girlfriend arrived at the bar, there were no seats left at the table, so she sat at the next table next to us, which three guys were sitting there eating. It's only because she was a cute girl they let her sit there. Yes.

01:41:23 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 2:

What do those guys think of you sitting there?

01:41:26 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. If I sat at their table, they would have punched me out or called the manager over.

01:41:30 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they were livid. KP sat down until she turned around and they saw her. Then all of a sudden, it was okay. Not true. I was about to ask them for a chair so I could put my feet up. Girl, you were white girl wasted.

01:41:42 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to hear your account of what happened because it's false. I was happy. I was simply, it was pure joy that I was, no drinking.

01:41:51 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Riley, you're a server, and when people go at it, what do you do?

01:41:57 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 3:

I literally just set the check down and put my hands up and say, you guys can fight over it. I'll be right back. Oh, good for you.

01:42:04 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 2:

And do you ever see tables flip?

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 3:

Do they what?

01:42:08 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever see a table flip or somebody, like, getting physical?

01:42:12 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 3:

No, but I did have a woman hand me do what Shannon did and hand me the credit card away from her group. And one of her friends saw her do it, and she was a little older, and she came up to me, and I've been doing this for 20 years, and I've never been, like, timid with my tables. She cornered me, and she said, if you don't take my credit card, I am going to be pinned. And I said, you know what, ma'am? I will take your credit card.

01:42:44 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Probably smart. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. All right, Mojo in the Morning. So Mandy went out pub crawling on a first date Imagine this And this happened on Friday, right? So you guys were pub crawling together for your first date? Yeah I wonder if that's a good or a bad first date Like is that a good thing? Like to go, you know, bar to bar How many bars did you guys end up stopping off at?

01:43:11 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 4:

We were at like four or five Really?

01:43:15 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 2:

So you guys not only pub crawled and then you guys actually went back. Whose place did you go back to?

01:43:22 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 4:

We went to his place.

01:43:24 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 2:

All right. So it actually turned out to be great. So this is Friday. It's now Monday, and you haven't heard from him? He has not even contacted you since then?

01:43:34 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 4:

No. I mean, I stay at his place, like, all Saturday. Oh, wow. Like, we had a great time and then went home and haven't heard from him since.

01:43:45 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys do anything?

01:43:46 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 4:

So it was, like, a two-day date.

01:43:48 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Did you guys do anything or did you guys just sleep?

01:43:52 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 4:

No, we had to have.

01:43:54 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Cool. All right. And you left his place, what, Saturday, did you say? Saturday night day?

01:44:01 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 4:

Sunday because. Sunday. Yeah, well, we were. Oh. Yeah, because we were, we met on Friday. Right. And then I spent, like, all Saturday there, Saturday night there. And then, yeah.

01:44:13 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 2:

So is it, wait, is it weird then that she's not getting a call back? it's only been how many hours now like you're i don't know but no i but i mean like i like have

01:44:22 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 4:

reached out to him like he didn't even talk to see if like i like got home safe or like what i

01:44:27 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 5:

was doing this week like yeah i see where you'd you'd kind of raise an eyebrow after you just

01:44:33 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 2:

spent like two and a half days i don't know i'd be like she's been with me the whole time why do

01:44:36 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 5:

i got to know for sure yeah but i at that point you think like it's going really really really well yeah he's gonna invite me over again or like we're gonna make plans for the week you know for the end of the week or next weekend or something i get it what'd you say manny i said just like

01:44:52 - 01:45:03 | Speaker 2:

shoot me a text like yeah all right well we got we got him on the phone so let's just get right to him and let's find out exactly if there's anything going on or you know Maybe everything's good. His name is Jason. Jason, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

01:45:05 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm fine with that.

01:45:06 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Jason, say hello to Mandy.

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mandy.

01:45:12 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 2:

That didn't sound good. Jason, everything okay between the two of you guys? Sounded like you guys had a good weekend. Did you have fun this weekend?

01:45:24 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 4:

It was fun initially. After that It wasn't fun anymore

01:45:31 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 1:

When did it become not fun And why

01:45:35 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 4:

Well it was We met, talked, you know Went back to my place, hooked up That was all fun The next day wasn't She just would not leave

01:45:48 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh so it wasn't that you guys Were happy to be together Let's hang out Her stain was a little bit overstaying She overstayed her welcome

01:45:58 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh yeah Very much so She just wouldn't get the hint And then I kept dropping I was trying to be subtle I didn't want to be just blatant What kind of subtle

01:46:11 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 5:

What kind of hints were you dropping

01:46:12 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh I gotta do this at this time I gotta do this at this time Okay

01:46:17 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah

01:46:19 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 4:

And not picking up on that And then And then she started talking about potentially signing, like, a lease in my apartment complex.

01:46:31 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. Did you – wait. What was that, Mandy? What did you do?

01:46:38 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 3:

No, I was just, like, we were just talking, and, like, my lease was coming up soon. And, like, I really like this building. And I don't know why that's such a – that's not a big deal. I mean, like, I figured, like, we would be hooking up in the future. So, like, why wouldn't he just, like, want me to... Ooh, that's a big assumption. After just two days. Wait, I'm confused. Like, getting in a nice apartment for all is a problem?

01:47:07 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, but you just said, I assume we were going to continue hooking up in the future. Yeah, we had a great time. No, I get that. That's just a big step from a first date. To, I want to live right by you so we can see each other all the time?

01:47:23 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 3:

I just, I don't think that it's a big deal.

01:47:29 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 2:

Let's do this. Let's ask the listeners what they think. Do you think it's a big deal? And is there a point, like, I've always wanted to know, like, how do you get somebody to leave that's overstaying their welcome? Because we sometimes have salespeople that come into our studio and hang out with us. I would like to, no, I'm just kidding. No, but what do you do in that case? Like, what do you do to somebody that's that comes over to your place? And have you ever had that happen to you?

01:47:54 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 1:

I also think I do think that you you sound a little a little clingy, Mandy. But I do think that Jason at, you know, when it came time Saturday night that she was going to spend the night again. I think that you probably should have said, hey, I've had a great time. I think, you know, you need basically you need to go home now. You could say it in a nice way. Like, sometimes you have to make it black and white.

01:48:17 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and get right to it.

01:48:19 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 1:

You know, like, if she's not taking the hint, at some point, it does become a little bit your fault that you didn't give her a black or white, you know. I would like to stay here by myself. You need to go home.

01:48:31 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey, real quick. Hey, Big D, what's going on, buddy? Hey. How are you, man? What do you think about this?

01:48:40 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 6:

Marja, that's kind of stalkerish.

01:48:42 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 2:

It seemed like it, didn't it?

01:48:44 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's kind of

01:48:46 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 2:

So what would you do To try to get her to leave If you were Jason And she spent one night with you But then continued to stay all day And try to spend another night with you What would you do?

01:48:58 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'm waiting to call You gotta go

01:49:01 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah It's time to go Get the door Mojo in the morning Brian, what's going on? What's going on?

01:49:08 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 5:

How was your guys' weekend?

01:49:09 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 2:

It was great, man How about yourself?

01:49:12 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it was wonderful I met a new mistress over the weekend We spent the whole weekend together But see, we communicated beforehand And I feel like they would have Had a better time if they communicated more

01:49:23 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 2:

So you had the same situation happen You met a girl, spent the whole weekend together And you actually liked it

01:49:29 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she left at 5 o'clock this morning I'm on my way to the doctor's now And it was a wonderful weekend Wait, what are you on the weekend?

01:49:38 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 3:

If it makes you feel any better I'm pretty sure she has the herbs

01:49:41 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 5:

Did you say I met a missus or I met a mistress? No, I met a girl. Oh, okay. Like a new one. Okay. Like a new one. And you guys laid out all the ground rules right up front. Communication. We did. Hey, we did. This was our second week. You know, a first week.

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 1:

weekend together and i said hey we're not gonna hook up till like the third or fourth weekend

01:50:03 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 3:

so this is a question for you just asking for uh mandy did you uh talk about leases at all

01:50:10 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 6:

yeah that was no no no no we didn't we didn't get in depth into the future other than i'm gonna have to not see her for six weeks because she's working the next six weekends in a row oh no okay so you

01:50:22 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 2:

guys got your fill in until then antonio what's going on smojo in the morning hey what's going on you guys good things are good what's going on uh what are your thoughts on this second date

01:50:32 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 1:

update so baby girl is definitely a clinger that's for sure um yeah i hate to put it i hate to put it out there like that although i do feel like my man probably should have made it clear yeah like black and white that he wasn't interested but baby girl you gotta you gotta you gotta take you gotta know you gotta understand you gotta read the room basically like if he's not trying to do with you and the thing is you're bringing up whole leases after a simple day of hooking up nah i probably would have ghosted her i would probably would have the same thing i will tell

01:51:03 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 2:

you this i'm not good enough to get a girl to stay one night let alone that many nights um but what's the most that you've ever stayed consecutively with a girl that you just met

01:51:14 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 1:

i mean to be honest if i'm like if i'm literally just hooking up like it's literally that night Like, you know, that's it. Like, hey, you know, you know, great hand club, you know, teammate, good job, you know.

01:51:28 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I've always said that you got to make sure that you don't overstay your welcome. And that goes with, you know, even dates.

01:51:37 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

Like, I think you have to leave them wanting more.

01:51:39 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

Believe it or not, that's a very good thing.

01:51:41 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 4:

Scarcity is good in that situation.

01:51:43 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Sarah?

01:51:44 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 4:

So my question is

01:51:47 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 6:

Did she wear the same clothes For three days Or did she have like a weekend bag Already packed Mandy what did you do

01:51:57 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 7:

No I was like Wearing my jeans and I We didn't like leave his place all Saturday So like I just wore one of his t-shirts And hoodies

01:52:05 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 2:

Did you get it back by the way before she left Jason

01:52:10 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 7:

No I still have it

01:52:12 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh he's never getting it back

01:52:14 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

Did you shower Or did you just stay in your

01:52:18 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 7:

No I showered It wasn't like this was not like I wasn't like A person without a home to go to

01:52:26 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 6:

It was like no big deal Just personally I would like to go home And shower and put on my own clean clothes After a day

01:52:33 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 2:

Were you ever worried that if you did go home You wouldn't see him again No You were just having fun

01:52:40 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Mandy went on the way home she went to the post office To have her address changed Have her mail forwarded to Jason

01:52:47 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 2:

One last call, Emily

01:52:49 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Hi

01:52:51 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 2:

Hi, do you think that Jason's in the wrong?

01:52:54 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well this is how I feel about it I feel like if the shoe was on the other foot And a guy was Was doing this with me And talking about wanting to lease And my apartment complex and stuff like that I would feel a little weirded out

01:53:07 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

01:53:07 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 5:

I'd be like, you know Oh, this is a little fast This is like, what's going on? It was just turning from fun to now what is going on?

01:53:16 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 3:

Even if you were really attracted to that person, it might make you take pause and be like, wait a minute, what are we talking about here?

01:53:22 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:53:23 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 2:

So I asked this question at the end of Second Date Update, but I'm assuming it's got to be a no. But Jason, would you want to go out with Mandy again, but then just stipulate that it's only for a night?

01:53:34 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 4:

With a hard cutoff, like I put on my kids' birthday parties. Three to five, come pick up your child at five.

01:53:41 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 1:

Right? No, I'm good. And honestly, she can keep the hoodie, too.

01:53:47 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah. Mandy, anything you want to say?

01:53:52 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 7:

No, I think that this could be a learning experience, I guess, for both of us, because I just wish I would have known, but it's not a big deal, like I've said.

01:54:06 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 2:

All right. Best of luck to both of you guys. Thanks for going on Second Date Update.

01:54:11 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 3:

You're home with the phone scams.

01:54:13 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 4:

01:54:26 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was Bruce Willis' 68th birthday over the weekend, and everybody in his family was posting and sharing birthday tributes to him, including his ex-wife, Demi Moore, who posted this video of Bruce celebrating with her, his current wife, Emma, his daughters, a whole bunch of people. He just looks so happy blowing out his candles, his two candles. Bruce was diagnosed with a form of dementia called FTD or frontotemporal dementia last month, if you didn't hear that news. So Demi captioning that video that we just played.

01:55:00 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 1:

audio of happy birthday BW so glad we could celebrate you today love you and love our family meanwhile his wife Emma Hemming also posting two separate videos on Instagram marking the occasion

01:55:13 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 2:

so today is my husband's birthday I have started the morning by crying so I worked on this reel that I'm posting for my husband's birthday I don't know why I do that husband and don't cry Emma but it means so much to me so thank you

01:55:33 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 1:

Tyra Banks says she does not plan to return as host of Dancing with the Stars on Disney Plus next season after hosting I think she's been hosting for three years now

01:55:42 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 3:

she's awful

01:55:43 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

I feel it's time for me to really focus on my business and my entrepreneurship and also producing more TV

01:55:52 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 2:

So they told her she's not coming back.

01:55:54 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 4:

I think it's time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor. Wait, so, I mean, does that mean you're stepping away from Dancing with the Stars?

01:56:03 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I think it's time. We'll think it's time. Yeah, we do.

01:56:08 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

Do you think she's stepping away or they're firing her? I think they're firing her and they let her go away gracefully. I wonder if they'll bring it back to regular ABC instead of their streaming service that they were doing.

01:56:17 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 1:

On Disney Plus. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. Backstreet boy Nick Carter, big update on this story. He's firing back in that sexual battery lawsuit against him. Said he's got about a dozen witnesses who claim his accuser is lying. Now, let me refresh your memory on this story. So, Nick is being sued by a woman named Shannon Ruth, who filed a lawsuit back in December, right around the holidays, claiming he sexually assaulted her after a concert in 2001 when she was underage. Nick's witnesses are from the concert. They are fans, security personnel, and a talent manager who all say this accuser's story is factually impossible. So the accuser claims she got in line to get Nick's autograph after the show. And that's when he allegedly invited her back onto the tour bus, gave her a whole bunch of alcohol, and then forced her to perform oral sex on him. Well, Nick says his witnesses will testify it was impossible for him to interact with this alleged victim after the concert. There was no autograph line. Fans had no access to the tour bus staging area. And he says one of the accuser's close, close friends at the time testified she's absolutely lying. She's also lying about being autistic and suffering from cerebral palsy. And furthermore, this best friend was like, she wasn't even at the concert that night. So it sounds like this story is going to fall apart. Yeah. We'll see. We'll see where this goes. And lastly, Snoop Dogg landed in Scotland over the weekend and was met at the airport by a bagpiper doing a rendition of this song right here. Let me see if you can figure it out. Do you know this song? Still Dre?

01:58:09 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I'm waiting for the beat, you know, but it's a bagpipe.

01:58:12 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 2:

That's so funny.

01:58:14 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 1:

So you have to see the video. It's getting posted right now on the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. It's Snoop Danson.

01:58:20 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 3:

That's great.

01:58:21 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 1:

To this guy doing the bagpipes. Gives him a thumbs up and gets into a car and goes, fly back. No, that was pretty impressive, actually.

01:58:31 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 2:

Maybe not everything translates to bagpipes.

01:58:34 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much. Have a fantastic morning and appreciate you listening to the show.

01:59:33 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it's my favorite.

01:59:35 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we love you for that. Thank you so much. Hold on a line. We'll get you set up with that. When we come back here next, Mike, we didn't forget about you. Actually, you forgot about a few things, but we didn't forget about you. If you could say that quieter, that'd be a lot. Pretty great. Mike, we never get to see Mike drunk. The guy rarely ever drinks, and I think he got the spit scared out of him. No drinking while he's working.

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 5:

but uh but after we got done with our work mike was in rare form so even during work because

02:00:08 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 3:

like my girlfriend said it was so fun to watch mike in his element like he lives for a dj tent and getting people hyped and so much fun to see mike get on that stage and just be in his environment and i think you were like living it it was the party was 10 times better because you

02:00:25 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 5:

were up there when we come back here next just make sure that mike holds on to things you know what i think we need for this guy i think we need those like you know little chains and things like that that you see at the uh bank for the pens um well just put it around all mike's items let me take a break because i got to get a break in if i don't get it in then we're going to run really late the rest of the show and then we'll be here till noon are you guys good with that nope got all right we'll be right back more mojo in minutes all right so mojo in the morning just that we were talking on uh you know that was i don't know an hour or so ago you can go listen to the podcast of it of who the drunkest was and you can see the video that we all made of who we predicted to be the drunkest it's uh up on our tiktok and instagram reels and facebook and stuff so everybody predicted that this person was going to be the drunkest well it was not mike that was predicted but i will say this mike may not have been the drunkest but mike was the forgetfulest

02:01:26 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 4:

can i say that i don't i rarely get drunk in fact i can count on my hand in a year how many times i actually i like to have to drink i like to have beverages but i don't i don't get drunk it's hard to too because you you got kids and yeah you can't feel like crap the next day you still have to be no no yes exactly and so yes i was i was in after we had done you know the announcements and we kind of hung out with everybody and we decided we were going to go for uh for dinner and stuff like that i was just starting to get to that point where i'm like all right i'm gonna have some beverages now and start having some fun and i was doing stage like stuff in there and we were all kind of trying to get together and that's when it began and my if you go look at if you go to mojo in the Warren's Instagram right now or Facebook or whatever and you go look at some of the pictures you'll notice my phone it's a red phone is hanging out of my pocket every single time you see me it's hanging out of my coat pocket or my back pocket like you could just tell at some point that thing's gonna fall out and at some point my phone fell out of my pocket and I was that that drunk guy yeah who couldn't find his phone anywhere but thankfully my find your phone was on so then I have to then my wife is that's when my wife was coming in so she was going to come meet us all for dinner and so I know my phone is in this tent area because it's fallen somewhere but I have no idea where at this point I'm like it's gone I have to get a new phone but I still have to communicate with people at the event with you guys with my wife so I'm on my apple watch literally talking into it in the um in the tent because I can't leave that what you were doing yes yeah yeah I'm like trying to which you have to do voice to text right or were you doing type a text i tried both but i think if you look at my text you can't read half of it yeah if you

02:03:10 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 5:

voiced a text on your on your watch with that noise that was going on you would have uh what kick it in kick it in let me begin i can't spin whatever the house of pain i tried to pin it and

02:03:26 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 4:

i'm like or ping it or whatever and i'm like oh that's not gonna work i'm not gonna hear that and i wanted to be like i wanted to get on the microphone again and be like hey can everybody just be quiet for 30 seconds complete silence oh my god hold on carrie's on with us carrie you

02:03:38 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 5:

were there on saturday you you were part of the shenanigans were fun weren't they oh you were one

02:03:45 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 3:

of those crazy girls in the front row thanks mike for the birthday shout out too oh you're welcome

02:03:51 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

happy birthday and then yeah thank you um yeah he was jumping around his cell phone fell out of his pocket and you watched it uh-huh yeah we saw it and then there was another guy who like pointed it out to him but we were all trying to get his attention and then once he noticed it wasn't in his pocket he was looking around like

02:04:07 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 4:

uh oh you know that fear when you lose it and you're like oh no but you're like you're not done for the night like I couldn't just go home and be like alright I'll get a new phone tomorrow

02:04:17 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 1:

and that's like losing your hand you cannot be without your phone

02:04:20 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 5:

well he didn't lose just that Carrie let me tell you first off he's got the most amazing wife but she's extremely patient too so that makes her even more amazing because when we were at the restaurant, she was very calm about the fact that Mike lost his phone and that it was going to cost him $1,000 or whatever. What does an iPhone cost? It's expensive, right? Yeah. So she was like, I think his phone is probably there. We'll go find it. Like, she was really cool. It was kind of reminding me. She was kind of talking to you like I've seen her talk to Cecily and Milo. It was amazing. She was like, we will find your phone, Mikey.

02:04:54 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she is my piece in those situations. And I don't get, like I said, I don't drink like that.

02:05:00 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 7:

lot so i think she was more worried because i i'm very like i would try to plan stuff but if plans don't go the way that exactly we had we had planned out i get a little anxious and so she's there to to kind of call me and be my piece at times and then at the end of the night yeah we

02:05:17 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 8:

were leaving mojos which was the is the you know dueling piano bar and uh i wanted to go to kill Winds. So when you have a pregnant lady, I'm like, pregnant lady, let's go to Kill Winds. We go into Kill Winds to go get some ice cream and Mike wants to pay and he reaches in his pocket. And guess what happened, Carrie? What happened? He left his, his, what'd you

02:05:44 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 7:

leave, Mike? My ID and my, or my cut credit card at Mojo's. Oh God. And I would not have

02:05:52 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 3:

wanted to go back there that place was way too packed and then we went out to the car to warm

02:05:57 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 5:

up for about an hour or so and um i decided to leave my wallet back in the car and so they had ideas again to get back in we were like um i have my stamp you know oh yeah so he so my age changed

02:06:11 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 8:

so he says to em goes i left it there and now if i left my id and wallet and all or whatever it was the ID and the, uh, the, the credit card, I would be like racing to get out of there.

02:06:27 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. Well, even the phone, I wouldn't have left the scene like he did. He came and joined us at the restaurant. I'm like, no, no, no. I'm not leaving until I get that stuff.

02:06:34 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 8:

He goes, can you give me a sample of that ice cream right there? I was going to try.

02:06:40 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you, she's like that piece that calms me. Like I normally would be like, ah, damn, you know, I got to go run after her and get that. And, but she's, I don't know. It'll figure itself out. It tends to. It was amazing. Jeremy, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:54 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 6:

Mike, you have an Apple Watch, right?

02:06:56 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, yeah.

02:06:58 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, when you're trying to ping to find your phone, if you push and hold the ping button, it'll also make your flash strobe light, so it'll help you find it easier. Oh, that's very cool.

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 8:

I never knew that.

02:07:11 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, look at that. It's doing it right now.

02:07:12 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 8:

That's awesome.

02:07:14 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 7:

Thank you.

02:07:15 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 8:

By the way, that would have only been good if it was darkness out at that particular time, too.

02:07:21 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 1:

In the DJ tent, that just would have looked like part of the show.

02:07:26 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 8:

Well, here's the funniest part of the whole deal. And Lydia, you should come in here for this. So Lydia and Megan and Allie were in the lobby. We walked back to the hotel. And they were waiting because Mike had to go to the, you know, mojos to go get his stuff. You know, they left. And they're just sitting in the hotel. And what was witnessed there, Megan, that that happened?

02:07:53 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Something very unfortunate that I would never, ever laugh at because that would be so incredibly rude to do to your friend who's in pain and hurt. Because they had walked into a door that was locked and it was so icy in the streets of Grand Rapids that they face planted. and just laid on the concrete for a solid 15 seconds after they completely face-planted in front of all of their friends. Mike slipped, and his face bounced. It bounced like a basketball off of the concrete. And that man did not move. He did not make a noise. I thought he was straight-up dead. And he just laid there like, this really, really hurts. And poor Mike got up, and he was very drunk. but also at the point of like i'm not in pain i'm fine i'm fine and then just looked at allie and was like i think it's time for us to leave i was like it's hurting it was like a 30 second

02:08:46 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 2:

pause right before he lifted his head that we panicked we're like uh is he bleeding is he okay because that thud on the ground was so loud you could feel it in the lobby of the hotel floor

02:08:56 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 7:

at that point like the phone thing yes i was jumping all around i had too much to drink my phone fell out yes the id thing yes i was boozing too hard and i forgot it the ice thing where i finally just the the defeat kicked in kicked in and i'm like this wasn't a drunk thing it was just icy and i just slipped full on defeat at that point so i'm like i'm not even gonna get

02:09:22 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

up i'm so embarrassed right now i think it was a little bit of both michael can i ask this question

02:09:28 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 8:

And why is it when somebody falls and hits themselves on the ground like that, do we laugh?

02:09:33 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 3:

I know. And it's like, you don't want to be doing that, but it's like almost innate. We do.

02:09:38 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 8:

What we do is we do the, and then when we see that they're moving and they're still breathing, there's still a pulse, we go.

02:09:44 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Immediately hit them out.

02:09:47 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 8:

It becomes so funny.

02:09:48 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 4:

It is. I was more mad at the hotel because I asked for the security footage of the fall and they wouldn't give it to me.

02:09:53 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 8:

Did they really? We gotta get Kate to call that general manager That nice lady that we talked to on the air And see if she can go back and

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 1:

find it for us. Did you see the girl fall off

02:10:02 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 2:

the stage on Friday morning during our broadcast?

02:10:04 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. No. Where was

02:10:06 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 2:

that? Oh, yes, yes,

02:10:08 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 1:

yes. We all kept having her to step down. I literally, she was talking and all of a sudden

02:10:12 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

she just disappeared.

02:10:14 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, she played the five at 65. She came up to tell us. Nikki. Nikki. It was Nikki. Yeah. Everybody was over served. And she was like, I'm fine. I'm fine.

02:10:23 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Her phone was also gone. Yeah.

02:10:25 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

She lost her phone. Are you comparing me to Nikki right now?

02:10:28 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am. Oh, I am.

02:10:30 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 1:

You should see what I bought, Mike, a roll of duct tape. We're going to duct tape everything to you, Mike, and make sure that you don't lose it at all.

02:10:40 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 5:

I remember how much crap Mike gave me when I admitted that I was a kid that had to wear a leash around in public, and now I'm the one in life that's the adult that needs to be on a leash.

02:10:48 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 1:

I love the listeners that are saying that Mike needs a fanny pack. Maybe we do need to get Mike a fanny pack. You have one, don't you, Mike? I do. I should use it.

02:10:55 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:10:55 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 1:

That would have been perfect, walking around with a fanny pack. I had mine. With all your stuff on, carrying it. All right, Mojo in the morning show. So you can tell that we had fun hanging out Friday, Saturday with everybody. It's great to see everybody and be part of the St. Patrick's Day fun. And then yesterday I pretty much sat on my couch and watched nothing. But I watched basketball games I didn't even care about until the Michigan State game came on and watch that amazing win from Michigan State making it to the Sweet 16. Okay, a couple more things I wanted to bring up. Oh, you know what I'll do? I'll go to this next one here since we were just talking to Lydia and had her in the studio with us. Lydia, come back in here for one second. I'll grab this from you right now. Why were you late? that's the topic that we're going to bring up right now. What was the story?

02:11:58 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 3:

So KP and I decided we were going to get brunch the morning after. And even though we were still a little bit hungover, we were craving some waffles. So we walked a block up to get some food. And we were hanging out. And keep in mind, our checkout time for our hotel was 11 o'clock. And we had left at 9 o'clock on purpose. So we would not be past the checkout time. So we were about to leave. And we were finishing up. And then all of a sudden, KP goes, I have to go to the bathroom and I'm like no you don't because it's already 10.45 and we have to go and what did you say KP?

02:12:29 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 4:

I had spicy butthole. She's like

02:12:33 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 3:

I really have to go to the bathroom and I'm like you can hold it we're only walking five minutes. I could not. Checkout is about to happen and I didn't want us to be overcharged

02:12:41 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 1:

for this day. Is that code for something? Because I didn't pick up what you said you had spicy butthole.

02:12:47 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 4:

Yes I get spicy butthole when I eat anything spicy and I don't go to the bathroom right away and i also had coffee i had like two cups of this oat milk latte that was really strong and i also heard that mojo called lydia to tell her that we needed to get out of the hotel for a checkout in

02:13:04 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 3:

time yeah so i enforced it i was like mojo told us that we have to check out that was the words

02:13:09 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 1:

that i was told by the uh the boss k uh kate arnold you had to tell my associate producer

02:13:14 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 4:

to tell the executive producer to leave on time well you were the one how out i was so drunk you

02:13:21 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 3:

I was not that drunk. Poopy! You being the mom of the group.

02:13:27 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 1:

So you couldn't leave the hotel because you had to go to the toilet?

02:13:32 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I had already packed up all my stuff, and I was just planning on leaving from the hotel and just going. The best part about this whole story is that Lydia had to go poop, too. She just went in the hotel, and I was waiting for her. But I just wanted it at the hotel.

02:13:45 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

So you went in the main bathroom in the lobby.

02:13:49 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no. I walked back to my room. She went back up for her. Oh, you did too?

02:13:51 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 1:

Dropped a gift.

02:13:52 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Beauty poop. I don't know what that was.

02:13:54 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't think hotels charge you if you're like- Nah, not if you're a half hour over.

02:13:59 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was just charged for that. Not this past weekend, but oh yes, they charge- Because I don't ever check out of a hotel.

02:14:06 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah. I don't check out of a hotel. I just leave and go. So they don't know if I'm leaving or not.

02:14:11 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 2:

That's who I did. Maybe, the only thing I could think of is that the housekeeping went in and tried to clean my room and saw that there was still stuff there.

02:14:17 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so they probably thought that it was the case. Well, that's interesting. So you guys both, what if we get overcharged on that whole thing?

02:14:26 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 4:

What if they have an expensive poop? She was out before 11, but I just can't imagine, Libby. You walked from our restaurant back to the hotel just to poop. I pooped before. I'm not going to hold that and waddle all the way back to the hotel. Are you kidding me?

02:14:39 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Somebody asked us when we were walking the streets of Ionia. They said, hey, what could we do to get on the show? And I think, I don't know who it was that said, talk about burps, farts and poop because that gets you on they wanted to know how they get past the phone screener I don't know who it was that actually responded with that but I'm like that is so appropriate and then I thought to myself we're

02:15:00 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 2:

more than that, aren't we? Not really. No?

02:15:02 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 5:

Not by one.

02:15:03 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 2:

What is it, by the way, about certain foods that just run right through you? They do it. So yours is spicy food that does it to you?

02:15:12 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, coffee, I feel like that's everybody. But this particular weekend, everybody had chicken and waffles, and that was my trigger.

02:15:18 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 2:

Where did you guys go get chicken and waffles?

02:15:20 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 1:

What was the place called? Social Misfits. It was so good. It was so fitting.

02:15:23 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 4:

So I was going to ask what you ate, because my girlfriend had the bubble gut, too. She had the tummy problems on Sunday morning. So same thing. Do you think it's the food? Do you think it's the food or do you think it's all the alcohol that you guys drank?

02:15:34 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 3:

We mixed so much alcohol. Well, she's a professional drinker. She drinks a lot.

02:15:38 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Let's not blame the restaurant for that. Let's blame the street meat and the stuff that people weren't garnering and eating on the side. By the way, can I say something about your girlfriend? When she came into the restaurant, you guys were standing at the table. She was, it was the most amazing way I've ever seen anybody devour, devour, yeah, that word, off of the plates. She just went. She was like, you know what it was like? It was The Walking Dead. Yeah. Have you ever, if you've never watched The Walking Dead before.

02:16:08 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 4:

Hey, do you guys want some of these apps? She dug right in.

02:16:11 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 2:

It was unreal. I was like looking, I'm like going, wow. And I actually offered her my chair. I'm like, will you please sit in this chair? Because it was just interesting. I was worried that it was going to get all over the place But she got it right there When she's ready to go She was ready to go on that one there KP, you were like that too, weren't you? You were a little hungry

02:16:30 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh, she took half of Was it Megan's cheeseburger?

02:16:33 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

No, it was mine, but I gave it to her I wanted her to eat something You know what, I am a food snatcher I will admit that

02:16:40 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 4:

I took the funniest video at KP I deleted it because I felt so bad You were not looking pretty You gotta send that to me

02:16:48 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 1:

I don't care. You were like, argh, argh. Those are the moments we live for. And I'm so tired of everyone talking about how I look. I look bad, too.

02:16:55 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 4:

She was having sex in that cheeseburger.

02:16:57 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:16:58 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 4:

Annika, what's up?

02:17:00 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 6:

Hey. I was listening to you guys. Always ask for a late checkout. Like, the worst I can say is no.

02:17:07 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Really? They're pretty good about that?

02:17:08 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 6:

I usually do, and they tell me no. Really? Yeah. My place is almost everywhere until I stay at. I just call, like, the day before or the night before. I have to check out. I'm like, is there a way we can get a late check out for the morning, like even just an hour later?

02:17:24 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 2:

What we'll do is we'll actually fake what happened to KP and say, hey, you know what? We're not feeling really well right now. Do you mind if we stay in here? They'll never let a sick person come down because guess what? They don't want you not feeling good in their lobby.

02:17:41 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's a book for you too.

02:17:44 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you've got to try to figure that out.

02:17:46 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 1:

Do you think they'd extend the stay if I literally told them I was having a spicy butthole?

02:17:50 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing? No, who's going to deny it? No, if you ever talk to a telemarketer and you say to a telemarketer that you're on the toilet, they always will hang up the phone with you. They will always say to you, because you know why? That's so funny. Nobody wants to hear another person do to you. So if you were on the phone and you said, hi, front desk, I am right now with, what is it called again?

02:18:14 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 5:

Spicy butthole.

02:18:15 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 2:

Spicy butthole.

02:18:16 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 5:

How have you never heard of that?

02:18:17 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. But that sounds like something that the social restaurant, whatever it was, should serve.

02:18:22 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 1:

They should actually have a... Instead of country grammar, that was what I got. You should call it spicy butthole.

02:18:28 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 2:

Didn't you say you had lava spilling out of you? Is that what you're talking about? Oh, that's not good enough. Hey, that's a quote from a movie. All right, we'll be right back. We'll be right back. This is the Midwest's number one morning show. And that's kind of sad. Mojo in the morning. mojo in the morning show so uh i was having uh issues pulling out of the parking garage that i was in this weekend

02:19:01 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 5:

wait so your card wouldn't go in my card would not fit in the thing yeah card would not go in

02:19:07 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 2:

we had to call same yeah well so i had i had issues with it to the point that the guy ended up that I talked to on the phone coming by to say, okay, let me help you. And the guy ended up helping me figure out exactly how to do it while there was probably 1,000 cars, it seemed like, that were behind me trying to get out. Long story short, I don't really want to get into the whole parking issue. And, boy, it is expensive to park in downtown Grand Rapids.

02:19:38 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is.

02:19:40 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

But I think this guy might have been hitting on me, and I'm going to explain why. because he called me something three times not once not twice but three times and at first I thought he was calling me it because it was like a reference to me being like a big guy like you know I usually get people that will

02:20:00 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

call me, Hey, big guy. Or I've had one guy call me slim. Hey, slim. And I'm like, Hey, you're calling me fat. How dare you? But the guy was calling me something that I eventually went and looked up on urban dictionary and he did it three times. I counted. The guy was calling me

02:20:17 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 2:

peanut and I didn't understand what the hell it was. Yes. I call my kids that at first. I thought

02:20:24 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 1:

when he did it and he was, he was, you know, he was a good looking, handsome man. All right. Okay. And at first I sat there and I thought to myself, I'm like, he's calling me peanut because I'm not a peanut. I don't look like a peanut, right? I'm a big guy. No, you look like so cute. I'm not a peanut. I'm kind of like a, I don't know, I would say I'm a watermelon. You know, hey, watermelon, what's going on? I'm more of like a walnut. A walnut, yes, a walnut. Is that the biggest nut? A little gross, still delicious. I have no idea why it is. I actually do like walnuts. How do I? Yeah, but you're right. My friend said that you look like the big pink teddy bear from Toy Story. Oh, that's so nice. I appreciate that. That's sweet. I can't remember his name. Well, oh, I thought it was that cute girl that was with you this weekend. I was like, oh.

02:21:09 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes. She said she can't remember the pink teddy bear.

02:21:11 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought you can't remember the guy's name that said that. I was going to say, wait a second. No, it was a girl. Sam was very sweet. But here's the thing that was funny. I went to Urban Dictionary because I was like, I think this guy was making fun of me. And here's what I got in Urban Dictionary. A cute person usually used as a nickname between two best friends. Gosh, Sam, you're such a peanut! Exclamation point, exclamation point. And I thought to myself, I'm like, I think he likes me. I think that was kind of a... Was that a flirty thing? He was calling me peanut.

02:21:42 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 2:

That's 10,000% a flirty thing. Don't you think? There's no other reason to call you peanut. Yeah. I think that that was it.

02:21:49 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

That's an affectionate or cutie nickname, yeah. You know what?

02:21:53 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how I feel about that.

02:21:54 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

It was kind of, I don't know. Wait, wait, wait. It's like a pumpkin.

02:21:57 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

It's like a pumpkin. Also, that would be weird.

02:22:00 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 1:

But did he give you free parking? He did not. Oh, no. Well, then he didn't think you were that cute. I ended up having to pay.

02:22:05 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 2:

$46 later.

02:22:06 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 1:

But he told me that if I get double charged to call him, maybe that was, I don't know.

02:22:11 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Did you say peanut back to him? Because that would be very you.

02:22:13 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 1:

No, I didn't. But I actually was joking with him when he called me peanut. And I said to him, I go, I kind of like the peanut thing when he got to the third time. and he started giggling and like laughing you know oh yeah yeah it's kind of a word that i use and then i said to him i go i like it better than when when people will use other references like when like you know you'll get people that will use bud or people that will will you know say uh hey uh or what was it what was the one that the guy told me the other day oh my god pal no pal's okay i'm okay with pal i actually find myself palin every now and again i call people

02:22:52 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 2:

You don't like Bud.

02:22:53 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What was the one that he used the other day that somebody used the other day when I was at a store and the guy said to me, I don't know. Oh, it was kind of like, I think it was like Husky Hand. He said Husky something. He said, hey, Husky Hanover. I don't know what the heck it was. I can't remember what it was. But I got caught back by the thing. I'm not one for people. Like, what do you guys use if you don't know somebody? Do you use like a certain term? And I don't like to be called sir. Don't call me sir because that makes me feel like I'm like 8,000.

02:23:27 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 2:

And I do that. If I don't know, I say ma'am and sir. I think it's just habit, even though I hate being called ma'am. So I need to stop doing that. But I don't know. I just was raised to say that, so I think I still do it.

02:23:40 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 1:

You know what it was last week, Mojo? You told us the guy at Topgolf was calling you babe. That was a friend, though.

02:23:46 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Babe.

02:23:46 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 1:

No, that was a friend. So that was a friend of mine that actually said, yeah, no problem, babe. I'm like, wait a second. He called me Babe. That was an interesting one. But, which I actually, to be honest with you, I kind of like Peanut better than Babe, too. I want to be going as Peanut now. That's what I want my name.

02:24:05 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

That is what my great aunt called my newborn brother. Peanut. Peanut. Peanut, yeah. Yeah.

02:24:11 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 1:

This was a grown man.

02:24:12 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 2:

Peanut sounds like you've got a group of friends, like, in the sandlot. And that's your nickname in that group of friends. Do you know what I mean? that you've had since you were little and you've grown up and your friends still call you that.

02:24:23 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 1:

Back in my club days, I would call people nuggets. Oh, you little nugget. Really? Wait, to women, right? You wouldn't say it to a guy. I'd say it to whoever. You would call a guy nugget and you didn't get your ass kicked? I'm a little guy, so I'm like, I'm a little nugget too. It's a term of endearment. Wait, you couldn't call a big guy a nugget? I mean, it depends on how well I knew them. If it was a big, big guy, I probably wouldn't.

02:24:46 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 2:

I had somebody call me Polly Pocket one time because I'm so short. And I'm like, I don't know you. It's one thing if my friend said that to me, but I'm like, you know, I don't know. It was kind of funny, though. I used to love Polly Pocket.

02:24:58 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Moving forward from today on.

02:25:00 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 7:

No, and I'm going to be calling KP spicy butthole.

02:25:02 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 9:

That's fine with me. People normally call me kid. I hate it.

02:25:06 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 7:

Do you?

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 9:

I know I act like a kid. I'm sorry.

02:25:08 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 7:

That's the other one, too, I got to be careful of. I call, I say kid every now and again. Hey, kid, what's going on? Like, I do that to Jed as a joke, and when I do it to Jed, because he is kind of, you know, he's kind of, I feel like he's like my kid, but when I do it to him, Joe told me that he gets, he feels like it's degrading to him. Like I'm like I'm talking down to him because, you know, we're we're, you know, equals. We're, you know, radio co-workers called him, sir.

02:25:33 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 9:

Once never again, I called him pal. He hated that, too. Really?

02:25:36 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 7:

Well, when a girl calls you that, you don't want a girl calling you that.

02:25:39 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, that means they don't like you like a guy.

02:25:41 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Like your friend zone in there right there. Chief is another one. Text her here. 419 says chief. I hate chief. There's there's like maybe one person that can that can call me chief. and that was, what was the overnight guy's name that used to work here at the radio station? Cliff Coleman? No, after Cliff. God, what am I, why am I brain... Steve Duncan? Steve. Yeah. Big Steve. Yeah. Big Steve was what he went by on the air. He would call it chief. Hey, chief! What's going on? But he would say it, he would not say it like chief. He would go, chief. He would go, hey, chief, what's happening? And I would be like, and he had like the, it was kind of like, yo, hey, park's closed. You know, type thing. He had that kind of a kind of a voice that he would set up. Man, yeah, I'm glad that you guys had problems with that parking garage too because that was the weirdest thing ever.

02:26:29 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 1:

And then the guy, so we called the guy and he was like, you have to push down on your card and just kind of shove it in.

02:26:33 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 6:

And I'm like, but I don't want my card to break. What parking garage did you park in? The one that you parked in for work.

02:26:39 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 4:

Right attached to the hotel. Yeah, but I was at a different one that was just as expensive.

02:26:43 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 8:

No, but the card reader wasn't working. And it's funny to me is a day later after Mojo had problems, they still didn't fix anything. They just let everybody else have problems too.

02:26:52 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 7:

Wait, did you have issues? getting out of your parking garage, Megan?

02:26:55 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the thing was broken. Did you notice, KP, that one of them was, like, normal and one of them was, like, all bent? So even when it opened up, you'd still have to hang it out.

02:27:03 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 9:

You went into the bent one, didn't you? Yeah, I did.

02:27:06 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 7:

There were a lot of drunk people, let's just put it that way, and maybe they did it, maybe they broke it. And I'm always now freaked out because everybody tells you that at gas stations, the scam is these card reader things where they're putting the fake ones.

02:27:18 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 8:

I said, I wonder if there's a skimmer in there, and I just got hacked, you know?

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 5:

It's probably not a good time to tell you guys. We probably could have worked out some free parking at the S&X.

02:27:27 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 9:

Mike, I asked you before the event.

02:27:30 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 5:

I know. We only have a couple spots. So if you guys, like, carpooled, we could have done it. But otherwise, it wouldn't have worked. Max, what's going on?

02:27:37 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you guys?

02:27:39 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 7:

We're good, Max. What's up, Chief? Or what's up, Peanut? Which one? What do you like to be called?

02:27:45 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was just texting in that I was called big guy by this guy next to me. on St. Patrick's Day about a zillion times, and that I was the, quote, same size as his son about a zillion times as well. So it's hard being a big guy. I'm telling you.

02:28:06 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 7:

Honestly, you know what?

02:28:09 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 1:

It's not hard being a big guy at a bar. The bartender sees you, and you can get drinks. Imagine being five feet tall.

02:28:15 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 3:

I basically have to jump

02:28:16 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 1:

up and down.

02:28:18 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 3:

That's true, but everyone comes up to you and has to mention that you're a big guy all the time. I always

02:28:26 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 7:

have. As a big guy, do you ever have people that try to sleep on your fat rolls? Because I've had people that have done that before. I don't, but

02:28:34 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 3:

that sounds fun.

02:28:35 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 8:

Did you see the guy in the bar we were at Saturday who was like nine feet tall? He was just a beast. Just a monster. In Grand Rapids

02:28:43 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 9:

Brewing Company. Did he get his number for me? No,

02:28:45 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 8:

he kept walking by and I kept joking with my girlfriend's boyfriend who's even shorter than me and i said let's let's start a fight with that guy you know so he goes so joking with your girl your girlfriend sorry i think i'm still drunk i meant my daughter's my daughter's boyfriend who's uh who's this little peanut so we're then we're in the in the men's room and he comes out of the stall and there's a bunch of dudes at the urinals and there's two drunk girls Trying to force their way in the bathroom And he comes out and the dog goes Hello tiny humans It was so awesome

02:29:22 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 7:

What's up Ashley

02:29:25 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 2:

Good morning

02:29:28 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 7:

What's going on

02:29:30 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

I work with So I'm a nurse And I work with another nurse I travel And one of the newer travelers To the site would always Call me boss I'm like what the heck why is he calling me boss like did I did I come off you know too much on him one day well come to find out I'm picking up that he's calling everyone boss it's just okay boss no problem boss so eventually I confronted him and I asked him I said what do you call your wife and he's

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 7:

I said, oh, she's Boss Lady. That's funny.

02:30:04 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 8:

I think when everybody says Boss, that means they don't remember any names. What's up, Boss?

02:30:09 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 5:

That's a downriver thing. People downriver always call it Boss. What's up, Derek?

02:30:15 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Mojo. Hi. I was with you guys at Kegs and Eggs. I was the Biden shirt.

02:30:21 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Yes. Derek, one of the double Ds. You're the guy that got Mike's computer for him.

02:30:27 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 7:

Yes. So I learned not to call Megan Meg, and I got the bird from her.

02:30:34 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 8:

She flipped you off? That's a sign of affection for Megan. It really is.

02:30:37 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Oh, and hey, guys, I appreciate the zipper check reel. I just saw that.

02:30:42 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, yeah. We noticed you had your zipper down for the whole party.

02:30:46 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 5:

Wait, did you just see that on our Instagram?

02:30:49 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I've been a little kind of delayed because, you know, I'm still trying to recover.

02:30:54 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 4:

It's so funny, too, because when you try to help somebody with that, you try to be discreet about it, but once somebody notices that their zipper's down, they over the top try to correct it and zip up their zipper. So they go like, oh, oh, geez, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.

02:31:06 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

She and it didn't Wes have that issue. Sure it did.

02:31:09 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 7:

I had fun with you guys. It was nice meeting you all.

02:31:12 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 5:

Nice meeting you, too. I always leave my zipper down on accident. I have no idea, but I'm convinced that my pants might be too small for me, and it just goes down randomly.

02:31:20 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 8:

Didn't you get a finger from Megan for calling her – what did you call her?

02:31:25 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm not a finger, but a stern talking to.

02:31:28 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, what happened?

02:31:30 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, Megan was leaving, and we were in the same parking garage. And I shout from across the parking garage. I'm like, bye, Miss Megan. And she thought I said something else. She thought I said, bye, not nice, Megan.

02:31:48 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, both fit, really.

02:31:50 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 5:

Did you really think that she said that?

02:31:56 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, no, I totally did. I didn't know why I came out of left field. And I remember just looking at you so confused, and you were like, what? I was like, what did you just say to me? Like, what? Why? This is a weird, confrontational place. We're all very hungover right now. And you were like, what did I say? And I said, what did you say? He said, bye, Miss Megan. And I was like, oh, I thought you were being so mean to me. So I gave you the weirdest look. Like, that was really rude. And then it turns out, all made up in my head.

02:32:28 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 8:

Is there any doubt why we all had problems getting out of the parking garage that morning?

02:32:31 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, really. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Wow. So our old producer, Chad, Chad Mitchell, a good friend of mine, took his daughter Georgia and his wife, Stephanie, to the concert on Saturday because he now lives in Phoenix. And he said, whatever you pay for your ticket, if you buy it from a scalper or you bought it from Ticketmaster, which is practically a scalper, it was worth every penny.

02:33:01 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 1:

He said that was the best concert that he's ever been to.

02:33:04 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 5:

He was blown away.

02:33:05 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 1:

This show is getting massive amounts of praise. The reviews are insane. The headlines were like, she is triumphant. It was unbelievable. I mean, just so much positivity surrounding Taylor Swift kicking off her ERAs tour over the weekend in Arizona and delivering exactly what the fans wanted to see and hear. A lot of people were saying the Ticketmaster debacle was worth it. If you were lucky enough to get tickets, you were saying that. But she really did take fans on a journey through all of her musical eras, 10 albums, 44 songs in a show that lasted more than three hours. Lots of costume changes.

02:33:43 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 5:

By the way, did you see the blank space security guard, the older lady? She was an older security guard. You got to look it up. It's trending all over. That was dancing to this song. Oh, I love it. She was so cute. And she was a great dancer. And everybody's been sharing it. I think it's got, like, two or three million shares right now.

02:34:02 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, the interest in this show was high. Kelsey Ballerini, I know, was in town in Detroit on Friday night and actually stopped to ask the audience about Taylor's show.

02:34:12 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 6:

Can I just level with you for a minute? Is anyone stalking the Aero Store hasn't started? I'm going to stalk it after this, but I have one question. Is Cruel Summer on the set list? It is?

02:34:25 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 2:

It is. Wow, that's my Super Bowl, I've got to be honest.

02:34:32 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Selena Gomez over the weekend becoming the first woman to surpass 400 million followers on Instagram. Less than a month ago, she actually passed Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on the platform at 381 million followers. But she did it. She thanked all 400 million of her fans in a cute post this past weekend. And soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is still the most followed person on Instagram.

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 8:

with 562 million followers. I'm shocked by that.

02:35:05 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 4:

Not that I don't think Selena's worthy of that many follows, but you just talk about Taylor Swift and all the sold-out stuff. Yeah. How is Taylor Swift not the number one? Like, that blows me away. Yeah, I don't know. Is her game not that... I know she didn't share things on her Instagram for a while. She wasn't posting.

02:35:20 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, Taylor seems to only really go active when she's on tour and has something to promote. Selena's, like, on there all the time.

02:35:27 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 4:

Wait. Do we have a theory to that?

02:35:29 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 7:

No, I just think it's... She only has 250... She only has 250 million followers.

02:35:34 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 4:

Wait, wait, wait. I want to know what your story is.

02:35:37 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 7:

I don't...

02:35:38 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 6:

I have nothing to say because Swifties, to me, are the scariest people on the planet. And I guarantee if I'm ever murdered, it was a Swiftie who did it. You need to look into him.

02:35:50 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 4:

Are you going to go to the concert, one of the concert nights?

02:35:53 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 6:

No. Of course not. If I went to a concert and I took up a seat in that venue, I think I would get skinned at the concert. No.

02:36:03 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:36:05 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 6:

People would be so, that would be like me going to a Harry Styles concert and saying.

02:36:09 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 3:

People are texting in right now. Hey, come on.

02:36:12 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 8:

People are texting in saying they kind of retired being Swifties and then they watched parts of the show on TikTok and they're like, no, I'm Swiftie again. Like, she's converting people.

02:36:21 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 9:

I wanted to go to the first show Because I like seeing concerts before anybody knows What's happening I hate spoilers and now everything's all over the internet I'm seeing all the cool effects that are coming this way

02:36:31 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 6:

Her diving into the stage

02:36:32 - 02:36:45 | Speaker 9:

It's so cool, it's just next level Which you have to be if you're going to be a big artist on tour You have to come up with new stuff But our former intern Louise was there And she was in a front row and her videos were insane I was so upset, I was like oh I wanted to go

02:36:45 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 6:

See, I disagree One of the biggest tours of the last year was Harry Styles And it was him on a stage and it was, like, he didn't have anything. It was just him, and I thought that was way more impressive.

02:36:57 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 9:

Well, you like to just look at him for two hours.

02:36:59 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but I think it's more impressive if you're an artist with no, like, backup dancers, visuals, anything like that, versus, and I'm a huge Lady Gaga fan. Like, I love a theatrical performance. Do not get me wrong. It's a theater production. I get it. I love it. But I do think there's some value in somebody who can just hold their own on stage by themselves.

02:37:21 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 9:

Of course, but if I'm paying $200 a ticket, I want a show. Like, when I saw the Adele show from Vegas, all those leaked videos, I really wanted to see that. I had no interest in Adele until I saw those videos. I was like, oh, my gosh, this is a cool show.

02:37:32 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 8:

By the way, I need two tickets if anybody's selling some.

02:37:35 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 9:

For Taylor Swift.

02:37:36 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 8:

For Taylor in town. I want that to be Lucy's first concert. Okay, Drew Barrymore defending her former co-star Hugh Grant. Last week, I mean, he was just roasted after what happened on the Oscar champagne carpet with model Ashley Graham. And now Drew is saying that's just him. He was not being rude.

02:37:55 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 5:

It's funny, too, because there's, like, this thing going around with, like, him and Ashley Graham on the red carpet. And people are like, oh, he's such a, you know, a curmudgeon, and she's so thrown. I'm like, no, that is Hugh Grant. You think you're getting this charming movie star, and what you really get is grumpy Hugh, and then you fall in love with grumpy Hugh. The person that Ashley Graham met on that carpet is the real Hugh.

02:38:22 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 8:

Michigan State is headed back to New York after beating Marquette 69-60 yesterday afternoon in Columbus to advance to the Sweet 16. This was the greeting that Coach Izzo received as he walked into the locker room after the win.

02:38:36 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, baby! Be careful with that man.

02:38:42 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 8:

We need him delicate.

02:38:43 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 4:

He cried it during the post-game interview, which is awesome.

02:38:46 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 8:

Well, he said he always thought this team, this team could make it there. And he said, I'm usually looking at the glass and there's barely any water in it, but I always believed in this team. And lastly, speaking of March Madness, Charles Barkley was at the commentator's desk for the NCAA tournament over the weekend, the games over the weekend, and at one point turned the conversation to one of the greatest things he believes has ever been created.

02:39:12 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 1:

And one of the greatest things ever created was those Uncrustables. Oh, my goodness.

02:39:16 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 3:

I didn't remember those until very late in life. It's like peanut butter and jelly growing up. Yeah. And then this dude told me about them. Greg told me about them. And I keep them stacked in the freezer at home. There you go. Yeah.

02:39:29 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 8:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home with phone scans. Mojo in the morning. Hello? Hi, is this Eden? Yes, it is. Hi, Eden, this is Terry Ignacio. I work for Human Resources here at F***. How are you? If you have three short minutes, I'd like to conduct a quick employee interview that we're doing with all of our employees.

02:41:31 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm actually not an employee there anymore. I got fired, so.

02:41:37 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 3:

You got fired? Oh, that's all right. This is an exit interview to learn more about your experience here to help shape the future of our future workplace. If I could just have three minutes of your time to see how you enjoyed your work experience, how would you say you enjoyed working here? um i didn't because i got fired oh okay well question number two do you think you were

02:42:02 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

treated fairly at i mean not really like i did my job and they fired me so okay that leads me to question number two then why did you choose to leave again i did not choose to leave um they

02:42:20 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

let me go so oh well i didn't have a place to put a check mark for that i'll just put

02:42:26 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 2:

change of scenery yeah did they not tell you i was laid off oh i'm sorry maybe i'm working off

02:42:32 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 3:

an old list here but that's okay because we could still get your experiences on the survey in just about 60 seconds what were the highlights or the pluses of working here the pay the benefits the

02:42:43 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

promotional opportunities were all great if i was there which i'm not because they laid me off all

02:42:50 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 3:

right? And what were the minuses? They fired me. Do you think you were treated fairly at you already asked that? Oh, well, it's just a standard interview. Then I have to ask everyone who chooses to leave the company. I didn't choose to leave the company. Do you have any complaints or regrets about leaving? Yeah, they fired me. I've been putting that for all these answers well then i guess the interview's over oh boy i can see i called you at a bad time and you're a little bit crabby is there a better time i can call not really oh boy i only got answers to questions one through five i have 18 more questions to ask i don't think we're gonna do that ted oh my name's terry whatever right funny which actually that reminds me of another reason i'm calling they had a mix up of names and they asked me to tell you that the last paycheck may be delayed until the computer thing gets sorted out are you serious they're gonna have to sort that out a couple people got messed up so it may take an extra six to eight weeks to get your last paycheck oh my god are you doing me right now i'm sorry yeah it's gonna be a little bit of a headache i imagine we i want to just answer his last 18 questions for me no thank you All right. Well, just remember, if you got any paychecks from us in the mail, you can't cash those, okay? What? Well, the ones they're sending you after your termination, they have the wrong name. You can't cash it, this one either. I'm looking at one right here on the paper. It reads, Eden Leiden Bo Beeden, you've just been the victim of a mojo in the morning phone scam. Eden, this is Spike, and you're on the radio with us right now.

02:44:37 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Okay, so my paychecks are delayed.

02:44:40 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 3:

Paychecks are fine. I'm sorry you got laid off. Your sister want us to harass you a little bit

02:45:00 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, baby. Can I ask you a question?

02:45:05 - 02:45:59 | Speaker 5:

This is Mojo in the Morning. I am like really tired right now. I woke up at 2 o'clock in the morning and couldn't fall back asleep. And, yeah, but I slept like a baby yesterday. I actually, you know, when I drove home from Grand Rapids, I got home before midnight. I slept till 930. I've not had that in a long time. I think, you know what I think the problem is? I had my dogs were at Marissa's house, who dog sits for us. I think I got to get rid of these dogs. These dogs require me in my, in, here's the problem. I think I need to bring Henry or Louie. I can't figure out who it is. One of them has to go to a sleep study Because they're snoring now at night Do they have CPAP machines For dogs

02:45:59 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 4:

CPAP machines

02:46:02 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 5:

Seriously

02:46:02 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 4:

That was good An A minus

02:46:07 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 5:

Wait are there any listeners that are checking out the show right now Who you would sleep Great if you didn't have animals I'm going to throw this out there because I could not all night last night All I kept hearing was like noises and stuff like that and then the other dog because i have two dogs henry and louie the other dog started making noise because i could hear their collar kind of jingling and as the collar was jingling i'm realizing you know why that dog you know why the other dog's making noise because he's pissed off like i am that the stupid son of a bitch is up all night

02:46:44 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 3:

making noises like that. We have the same kind of dog Mojo and I. And Charlie, mine, does this that he's done it for years and years, but it keeps me up. He goes like this all night. Oh, no. He smacks his lips like he has dry mouth. And it drives Wes, my fiance, crazy to the point where we have a noise machine now that we crank just so that we don't hear all night long. He smacks He, like, licks his lips. It drives me crazy.

02:47:14 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 5:

You know what's funny? My aunt used to do that all the time, and it drove my dad nuts. And so we would go out to eat with them, or they would come over to our house. My dad would make my mom sit next to my aunt because he would be like, and she drives me crazy. You know, it's crazy. I can't do it. Listen to this. Hold on. This is from a site called Steady Finds, which I usually get a lot of good stuff for trending news from. The headline is, Rough Night. R-U-F-F. Pet owners, especially those with dogs, are more likely to sleep poorly. Having a dog has been associated with a greater odds of a sleep disorder or trouble sleeping. Meanwhile, owning a cat is linked to a higher chance of actually being able to sleep.

02:48:00 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 2:

Didn't we literally talk about an article recently where it's like, dog people get the best sleep because our chemical levels are so high being with an animal that we love?

02:48:10 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, you know what? Of course, I trust this site more because this site agrees with me. Researchers studied multiple sleep quality factors. These included feeling unrested, feeling sleepy, not getting enough sleep, taking longer than 15 minutes to fall asleep, and getting fewer than six hours of sleep on average. And generally speaking, cats tend—oh, no, this is interesting. No, I'm wrong. Cats tend to be—did I misread that part? Cats tend to be more active at night than dogs. One expert explains that this may explain the reason why there's an association to sleep quality of people who own cats versus sleep quality of people who own dogs.

02:48:54 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 4:

But cats leave you alone. Dogs get up on your bed and breathe in your face.

02:49:01 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 2:

My cat slept on my pillow with me for like 17 years. Oh, really? Yeah.

02:49:05 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 4:

I've been honestly I've been saving some vacation days for fall because I'm planning on hopefully introducing a new we want to rescue a dog and and it's going to require an introduction to the house that I know is going to be torturous so I'm like I won't be able to leave and I'm not going to get sleep she's still talking about that snake I don't know what's going to happen with the snake but I want the dog and we're just going to have to take a few days off to get it trained and get it used to the house. And people know when you bring a dog home, I mean, it's torture for a few days. The snake, I don't know. That could be out in the garage.

02:49:40 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 5:

Lisa?

02:49:42 - 02:49:42 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:49:42 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you? Are you not getting any sleep because of your dog?

02:49:47 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, no. We have four dogs, two golden retrievers and two labs, and three out of the four sleep with us at nighttime, and it's awful. One jumps up, one goes down. Number one jumps up. Oh, yeah.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 2:

Terrible. So how many hours of sleep are you getting?

02:50:04 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. Probably like four if I'm lucky.

02:50:07 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing is that you've got to crate them. I know that some people don't like crating their animals. But ever since we crated the dogs, I feel like the sleep got better. And they didn't, like, go jump on you in the middle of the night. Like, they kind of hung out in their crates. But the whole snoring thing Or the noise that Shannon made

02:50:28 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 8:

Of Charlie

02:50:30 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 2:

Nothing will help And my problem is Chelsea's out of town So I normally sleep with her Noise machine that she has And her noise machine's not with her I think she traveled with it

02:50:43 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 8:

Those things are clutch I know that sounds stupid But I got one for Lucy when she was a baby And I'm like I kind of want one of these And they have adult ones They're the best.

02:50:53 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Apple? Hi. Hey, what's happening? We're talking about how people with animals have a hard time sleeping.

02:51:01 - 02:51:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I have a cat. She's old, and she looks at you during the day, and she silently meows at you. And she's, like, you know, acting like she can't speak. And then all night long, she screams at the top of her lungs. Oh, jeez. She'll get, like, you know, empty toilet paper roll or something to play with, And then she'll just bat it around and do flips, jumps, and screaming at the top of her lungs. But during the day, she, like, oh, like, she silently mails. And then she, like, climbs up the furniture. She just jumps up the couch.

02:51:37 - 02:51:41 | Speaker 2:

Why do we do it to ourselves? Are they really giving us that much love, you know?

02:51:43 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 6:

She's very obnoxious, but I love her to death, you know?

02:51:45 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm a big believer in, you know, don't put all the hate on Shannon. Put a hate on me for this one because I know Shannon hates cats. She's mentioned it before on the show, but I think cats are going to kill their owners in the middle of the night. Like, I feel like they'll suck the life out of you.

02:51:58 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 8:

I'm telling you. There's something creepy. You're so mean towards cats.

02:52:02 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Be careful. That's true. Hilarious. We're mean towards cats and Megan. Yeah. What's going on, Randy? Hey. Hey.

02:52:12 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 5:

So, yeah, I have four cats, and they are the worst creatures to live with. All right. Thank you. You don't get any sleep. Yeah. They get the zoomies, they run all over the house, they play with random things, they lay on your face, they walk all over your body, if you move your feet, they attack them, you don't get any sleep with cats.

02:52:32 - 02:52:41 | Speaker 1:

Every time I spend time with my daughter like I did this weekend at Grand Valley, she just shows me all the videos of all the dumb a-hole things the cat either hits you in the face or knocks things over for no reason.

02:52:42 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 3:

My cat does this thing now, and it's just to my son, and I think it's because my son is so, like, rough with the cat, where she'll put her paw under the door and just pull on it.

02:52:53 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 7:

So it literally goes do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do Climb up the curtains and then leap onto me and attack me in my sleep.

02:53:26 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. See, I told you. Vicious animals.

02:53:32 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 7:

She was evil. She would bite my toes.

02:53:36 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what I would do? I'd call animal control in the middle of the night and say, come, I got a friend for you.

02:53:42 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 7:

I was tempted.

02:53:43 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 2:

It's trying to kill you.

02:53:45 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 7:

It was. It was awful. Like, probably at least every half hour, she was attacking my feet. I mean, it was terrible.

02:53:52 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine, by the way, having a picture of what you just said, a picture jumping from the curtains on you in the middle of the night? Oh, my God. I would be freaking out. Mark, you have a dog that does something like that, right?

02:54:07 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 4:

A buddy of mine had a dog, and it was like a German Shepherd, Wattweiler, or something like that. And in the middle of the night, it was the nicest dog. In the middle of the night, my buddy said he thought it had a dream because it bit him in the leg twice so hard.

02:54:23 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:54:25 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it bit him.

02:54:26 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 2:

Crate those dogs or put them in another room. I don't want them. They'll kill you. They will. They'll get you. How do you like this one? Lauren, what would your dog do to you while you're sleeping? Lauren? You there, Lauren? Lauren's dog would kick her in the face While she was sleeping at night

02:54:47 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 8:

Sorry that's not funny I hope it's not one of those big

02:54:54 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Dogs that looks like A horse you know what I mean Can you imagine just getting kicked in the face

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 4:

damn thing it's the second date update on mojo in the morning all right mojo in the morning so

02:55:06 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 1:

02:56:00 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys do anything?

02:56:02 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 3:

So it was like a two-day date.

02:56:03 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Did you guys do anything or did you guys just sleep?

02:56:07 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 3:

No, we hooked up.

02:56:09 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Cool. All right. And you left his place, what, Saturday, did you say? Saturday night day?

02:56:16 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 3:

Sunday because... Sunday. Yeah, well, we were... Yeah, because we met on Friday. And then I spent like all Saturday Their Saturday night there And then yeah

02:56:28 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 1:

Wait is it weird then that she's not getting a call back It's only been how many hours now I don't know

02:56:35 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 3:

But no I mean like I like have reached out to him Like he didn't even check to see if like I Like got home safe or like what I was doing This week like

02:56:44 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah I see where you'd kind of raise an eyebrow After you just spent like two and a half days

02:56:49 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 1:

I don't know I'd be like she's been with me the whole time Why do I got to check in with her?

02:56:52 - 02:56:57 | Speaker 2:

No, for sure. Yeah, but at that point, you think, like, it's going really, really, really well.

02:56:58 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. He's going to invite me over again.

02:56:59 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Or, like, we're going to make plans for the week, you know, for the end of the week or next weekend or something. I get it.

02:57:05 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 1:

What did you say, Manny?

02:57:06 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

I said, just, like, shoot me a text.

02:57:08 - 02:57:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. Well, we got him on the phone, so let's just get right to him and let's find out exactly if there's anything going on or, you know, maybe everything's good. His name is Jason. Jason, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Yeah, I'm fine with that. Okay, Jason, say hello to Mandy.

02:57:26 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mandy.

02:57:27 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 1:

That didn't sound good. Jason, everything okay between the two of you guys? Sound like you guys had a good weekend. Did you have fun this weekend?

02:57:39 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 4:

It was fun initially. After that, it wasn't fun anymore.

02:57:47 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 2:

When did it become not fun and why?

02:57:52 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, we met, talked, you know, went back to my place, hooked up. That was all fun. The next day wasn't. It was she just would not leave.

02:58:05 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so it wasn't that you guys were happy to be together, let's hang out. Her staying was a little bit overstaying. She overstayed her welcome?

02:58:15 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, very, very much so. Like, she just wouldn't get the hint. And then, like, I kept dropping, like, I was trying to be subtle. I didn't want to be, like, just, you know, just blatant.

02:58:25 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 3:

What kind of subtle? Like, what kind of hints were you dropping?

02:58:29 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I got to do this at this time. I got to do this at this time. Okay. Okay. Yeah, and not picking up on that. And then she started talking about potentially signing, like, a lease in my apartment complex.

02:58:46 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Did you, wait, what was that, Mandy? What did you do?

02:58:53 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 3:

No, I was just, like, we were just talking, and, like, my lease is coming up soon, and, like, I really like this building. And I don't know why that's such a, that's not a big deal. I mean, like, I figured, like, we'd be hooking up in the future, so, like, why wouldn't he just, like, mommy?

02:59:10 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 2:

Ooh, that's a big assumption after just two days.

02:59:13 - 02:59:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, but you just said

02:59:23 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 2:

I assume we were going to continue hooking up in the future Yeah, we had a great time I get that, that's just a big step from a first date to I want to live right by you so we can see each other all the time I just

02:59:39 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't think that it's a big

02:59:41 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 1:

deal all right let's do let's do this let's ask the listeners what they think do you think it's a big deal and is there a point like i've always wanted to know like how do you get somebody to leave that's overstaying their welcome because we sometimes have sales people that come into our studio and hang out with us Thank you.

03:00:00 - 03:00:09 | Speaker 6:

I would like to eat. No, I'm just kidding. No, but what do you do in that case? Like, what do you do to somebody that's that comes over to your place? And have you ever had that happen to you?

03:00:09 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 1:

I also think I do think that you you sound a little a little clingy, Mandy. But I do think that Jason, you know, when it came time Saturday night that she was going to spend the night again. I think that you probably should have said, hey, I've had a great time. I think, you know, you need basically you need to go home now. You could say it in a nice way. Sometimes you have to make it black and white.

03:00:32 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and get right to it.

03:00:34 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 1:

You know? If she's not taking the hint, at some point, it does become a little bit your fault that you didn't give her a black or white, you know, I would like to stay here by myself. You need to go home.

03:00:46 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 6:

Hey, real quick. Hey, Big D, what's going on, buddy? Hey. How are you, man? What do you think about this?

03:00:55 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 2:

Marjo, that's kind of stalkerish.

03:00:57 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 6:

It seemed like it, didn't it?

03:00:59 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's kind of soccer, Mojo.

03:01:02 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 6:

So what would you do to try to get her to leave? If you were Jason and she spent one night with you but then continued to stay all day and try to spend another night with you, what would you do?

03:01:13 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm waiting to call you a flower on the table. You gotta go.

03:01:17 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 6:

It's time to go. Mojo in the morning. Brian, what's going on?

03:01:22 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 9:

What's going on? How was your guys' weekend?

03:01:24 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 6:

It was great, man. How about yourself?

03:01:27 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 9:

Oh, it was wonderful. I met a new mistress over the weekend. We spent the whole weekend together. But, see, we communicated beforehand, and I feel like they would have had a better time if they communicated more.

03:01:38 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 6:

So you had the same situation happen. You met a girl, spent the whole weekend together, and you actually liked it.

03:01:45 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 9:

Oh, she left at 5 o'clock this morning. I'm on my way to the doctors now, and it was a wonderful weekend.

03:01:50 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what are you on the way?

03:01:52 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 5:

If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure she has the herps.

03:01:56 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 8:

Did you say I met a missus or I met a mistress?

03:02:00 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 9:

No, I met a girl. Oh, okay. Like a new one.

03:02:05 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Like a new one. And you guys laid out all the ground rules right up front, communication.

03:02:09 - 03:02:18 | Speaker 9:

We did. Hey, we did. This was our second, you know, second week, you know, first weekend together. And I said, hey, we're not going to hook up until, like, the third or fourth weekend.

03:02:18 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 7:

So, this is a question for you, just asking for Mandy. Did you talk about leases at all? Yeah, that was the word.

03:02:26 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 9:

No, no, no, no. We didn't get in-depth into the future, other than I'm going to have to not see her for six weeks because she's working the next six weekends in a row. Oh, no.

03:02:37 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 6:

So, you guys got your fill in until then. Antonio, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning, Second Date Update. Hey, what's going on, you guys? Good, babe. Things are good. What's going on? What are your thoughts on this Second Date Update?

03:02:48 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 3:

So, baby girl is definitely a clinger. That's for sure. I hate to put it out there like that. Although I do feel like my man probably should have made it clear. Yeah. Like, black and white that he wasn't interested. But, baby girl, you got to know, you got to understand, you got to read the room, basically. Like, if he's not trying to do this with you, and the thing is you're bringing up whole leases after a simple day of hooking up, nah, I probably would have ghosted her. I probably would have done the same thing.

03:03:17 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 6:

I will tell you this I'm not good enough To get a girl To stay one night Let alone that many nights But What's the most That you've ever Stayed consecutively With a girl That you just met

03:03:29 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 3:

I mean To be honest If I'm like If I'm literally Just hooking up Like it's literally That night Like you know That's it Like hey You know You know Great hand club You know Teammate Good job You know

03:03:42 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 6:

High five I've always said That you gotta make sure That you don't overstay your welcome And that goes with Even dates

03:03:52 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 1:

You have to leave them wanting more

03:03:54 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 6:

Believe it or not

03:03:55 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 1:

Scarcity is good in that situation

03:03:58 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 6:

What's up Sarah?

03:04:01 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 4:

So my question is Did she wear the same clothes For three days Or did she have a weekend bag Already packed Mandy, what did you do?

03:04:13 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 5:

No, I was wearing my jeans And we didn't leave His place all Saturday So like I just wore one of his t-shirts and hoodies

03:04:20 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh Did you get it back by the way before she left Jason

03:04:25 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 5:

No I still have it

03:04:28 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 8:

Oh he's never getting it back

03:04:29 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 6:

Did you shower or did you just Stay in here

03:04:33 - 03:04:41 | Speaker 5:

No I showered It wasn't like this was not like I wasn't like A person without a home to go to

03:04:41 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 4:

It was like no big deal Just personally I would like to go home and shower and put on my own clean clothes after a day.

03:04:49 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 6:

Were you ever worried that if you did go home, you wouldn't see him again?

03:04:54 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 4:

No.

03:04:55 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 6:

You were just having fun?

03:04:56 - 03:04:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:04:57 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 8:

Mandy went on the way home. She went to the post office to have her

03:05:00 - 03:05:01 | Speaker 3:

address changed, have her mail forwarded

03:05:01 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 6:

to Jason's. One last call. Emily? Hi. Hi. Do you think that Jason's in the wrong? Okay.

03:05:10 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 8:

Well, this is how I feel about it. I feel like if the shoe was on the other foot and the guy and a guy was doing this with me and talking about wanting to lease in my apartment complex and stuff like that, I would feel a little weird

03:05:21 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 6:

out. Yeah. I wouldn't.

03:05:24 - 03:05:31 | Speaker 8:

I'd be like, you know, oh, this is a little fast. This is like, what's going on? It was just turning from fun So now what is going on?

03:05:31 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 3:

Even if you were really attracted to that person, it might make you take pause and be like, wait a minute. What are we talking about here?

03:05:37 - 03:05:50 | Speaker 6:

Yes. So I asked this question at the end of Second Date Update, but I'm assuming it's got to be a no. But Jason, would you want to go out with Mandy again, but then just stipulate that it's only for a night?

03:05:50 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 7:

With a hard cutoff, like I put on my kids' birthday parties. Three to five, come pick up your child at five.

03:05:56 - 03:06:01 | Speaker 8:

Right? No, I'm good. And honestly, she can keep the hoodie, too.

03:06:02 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Yeah. Mandy, anything you want to say?

03:06:07 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 7:

No, I think that this could be a learning experience, I guess, for both of us. Because I just wish I would have known. But it's not a big deal, like I said.

03:06:21 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 6:

All right. Best of luck to both of you guys. Thanks for going on Second Date Update. All right, top training stories of the day. And then we are out of here. It's been a long last few days. If you missed any portion of today's show where we talked about who the drunkest was when we were out over at Irish and Ionia, or if you want to know about the sneaky Venmo, or I'm trying to think of what else. There's a lot of stuff. So go check it out. I'm bad at teasing this thing. I should be better at teasing.

03:06:59 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 7:

Who slept at a truck stop over the weekend? Oh, yeah. There you go. That's a good one.

03:07:03 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Go listen. It's on the podcast right now. You can go check it out. Honestly, I didn't think I was even going to get to Grand Rapids for Irish and Ionia on Saturday. I was worried about U2 and Lydia and KP. They now have, the Michigan State Police have now come out this morning saying that it was more than 150 vehicles involved in a massive pile-up on Interstate 96 because of the conditions that were near Portland. And I'll play you this clip. This is actually a clip from TV, but they say close to 100. Today, they actually found more than 100 because they actually had to tow these cars out. Could you imagine being these tow truck drivers? They had to work overtime on that. If any of them are listening, they'll have to call us up. But there was a whiteout that occurred. And why can I not hear it? I can't hear the whiteout. Oh, here you go. Hold on.

03:08:02 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 1:

Happening now on 13-year-old side late night, all lanes of I-96 are now open after a massive pileup involving nearly 90 vehicles this afternoon. Good evening. I'm Elena Holland. Several photos and videos were sent in as cars were at a standstill while emergency crews closed down portions of the highway. The freeway was shut down in both directions, closing about three miles of highway between Grand River and Portland Township. At 13-year size, Josh Albertus was in Portland Township near where that crash happened. He joins us now from a warming center where those involved in the pileup were sent.

03:08:39 - 03:09:09 | Speaker 4:

We're here at Portland Church of the Nazarene that has since been converted into a warming center for those that were involved in this pileup. Responders here saying many more cars were involved in this crash than was originally thought. Officers and emergency personnel responding Sunday afternoon to a more than 50 car pileup on I-96 near Portland Township. Lieutenant Jack Peters with the Ionia County Sheriff's Office said this particular stretch of I-96 has already been known to cause difficulties in the past.

03:09:09 - 03:09:20 | Speaker 2:

That bridge is not a great spot to have accidents. I've had policed accidents there before with fatalities. So today we don't have any fatalities, and I'm grateful, extremely grateful for that.

03:09:20 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 6:

I'll be honest. I drove over it, and there wasn't, like, a big whiteout condition at the time. But I thought the same thing, too. I'm, like, going, I was trying to go really slow. People were driving like idiots.

03:09:30 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 3:

It's amazing that you all of a sudden can't even see the hood of your own car.

03:09:33 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 6:

Well, and then that's when these whiteout conditions happen. here is uh harlan medallion talking roads were clear traffic was moving you know full speed 65

03:09:43 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 5:

70 miles per hour and within a matter of moments it just it just turned white it just snuck right

03:09:51 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 7:

up on you yes it did and you didn't know what to do and then and then you'd be fine and then do it

03:09:55 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 6:

again and then you'd be fine well it's so scary your thought is

03:10:00 - 03:10:38 | Speaker 5:

I've got to keep on going, I've got to keep on going, but then your thought is, if somebody's lights in front of them aren't bright enough, I'm going to run right into them. That's exactly what happened with more than 150 vehicles that ended up, there were vehicles that went to the side of the road because they tried to slow down. That turned out to be kind of a mess for that, so it was pretty crazy. They were able to kind of clear it up. On the way back, I had to do a detour pretty far. It's funny how Waze will have you drive through a person's front yard i know oh really oh my god i actually at one point mike this is like a you know like a farm or something it was like a big property at one point i think i went in their driveway

03:10:38 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 2:

what is this so what is the the benefit of ways over over google maps like why do you choose it

03:10:43 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 5:

over that they're both similar but ways will sometimes be like people giving the alerts of what area and then i think ways and google maps are owned by the same people and i think that they do it based on where people are driving and then they start seeing a pattern and that's when And they send you.

03:10:59 - 03:11:04 | Speaker 4:

Waze will let you also go through a couple small neighborhoods where Google Maps kind of follows the, oh, stick to the main roads routine.

03:11:05 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 1:

I kept saying to Wes, who was driving with me, hang on one second. I think MapQuest is rerouting us. And he's like, is this 1990? You were using MapQuest? No, I wasn't.

03:11:17 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 5:

You meant, oh, you meant Maps or whatever. Maps is the worst. Because Maps doesn't sometimes account for, like, the accidents.

03:11:25 - 03:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Apple Maps is the best. Y'all are crazy. Really? Yeah, because you can report everything to all the other iPhone users. Well, Waze does that, too. You don't have to be using the app for it to just know that the iPhones are being stopped somewhere to give you updated information. I prefer it.

03:11:41 - 03:12:02 | Speaker 5:

You like that? Yeah. I always screw up on that one. For some reason, it always ends up messing with me. So, potato, potato, whatever, to each his own. Here's one for you. A story in Goodrich, Michigan about a woman who is in search worldwide right now for shoes for her 14-year-old son. He wears a size 23.

03:12:03 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 1:

Holy cow.

03:12:04 - 03:12:20 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Six foot 10 high school freshman. He's had six surgeries on his feet because of ingrown toenails. Ouch. and she can't find him shoes so she's got to have him wear shoes that are way too small for him

03:12:20 - 03:13:18 | Speaker 3:

still growing i'm like 6 10 and my feet are still growing and i just can't get them to stop and i have to like pull a cinderella or something cut my toes off and uh maybe i'll fit in different shoes because these are tight like i'm getting blisters on the top of my feet because they don't extend high enough or they're not wide enough or whatever but it's been impossible my parents have called every shoe place you can think of they've called them like yeah they've called the manufacturers what adidas just nothing they've led to nowhere how is it that there's no nba players that have that size yeah realizing like oh i'm going to be stuck like this forever like i'm never not going to see the tops of shelves in a store i'm never not going to see like the top of people's heads wherever i go and then uh mike you you know his pain sat with me and settled for a bit

03:13:18 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 5:

realizing that i was going to be this tall by the way sizes by the way this is interesting but um the largest shoe size that they believe is out there is nba player taco fall who is six foot seven and has a 22 holy but not a 23 this guy's more here's the interesting thing about him he's six foot ten wears a size 23 inch uh foot and does not play basketball so he does not play the sport that he would most probably excel in because of that he does play football from what

03:13:48 - 03:13:53 | Speaker 4:

we understand it's probably very sick of people asking him if he plays basketball um and another

03:13:53 - 03:14:56 | Speaker 5:

story uh a michigan woman who lost her fitbit found out that her dog ate it after realizing that the fitness app was tracking the pooch's activity the uh woman said that her husband admitted to not using device leaving it sitting around and then the dog ended up eating it and she went to go look at the fitbit to see what you know what was going on and the the fitbit was still going so she was like it's somewhere only to bring her dog to the vet and the vet ended up oh my god getting the uh the fitbit out they actually tried all kinds of stuff uh they said that the fitbit is the size of a prune the dog is currently recovering right now and doing well from the surgery that was done to remove the uh the fitbit i honestly would leave it in there and just pretend like it was all mine yeah get those steps um how much do you guys think a big mac costs in new york the most expensive state to buy the burger uh what is it here is it like

03:14:56 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

a bur a big mac gas the burger here the burger

03:15:00 - 03:15:02 | Speaker 8:

actual burger. Do you buy the burger? How much just for the

03:15:02 - 03:15:04 | Speaker 4:

burger? It's like $8 or $9. Is it really?

03:15:04 - 03:15:05 | Speaker 8:

No, for just the burger.

03:15:05 - 03:15:10 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it's like $8 or $9. It is. No, and here

03:15:10 - 03:15:16 | Speaker 8:

it is. The actual burger without the meal is not $8 or $9. Yes, it is. I have the stats right here to prove it.

03:15:18 - 03:15:20 | Speaker 4:

Hang on, let me look at my McDonald's app.

03:15:20 - 03:15:22 | Speaker 8:

A meal. Which I have conveniently

03:15:22 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 4:

right in front of me. A meal with

03:15:24 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 8:

fries and Coke will probably add it up to over $10, but it's $4.27 for it in Michigan, $4.03 in Ohio, but the most expensive Big Mac in the country, New York. They're calling it Big Mac inflation. $5.23 for just the burger. The Big Mac burger. This is not the quarter pounder with cheese or the double quarter pounder with cheese. This is the Big Mac burger, which by the way, originally in 1967 was $0.45.

03:15:56 - 03:15:57 | Speaker 4:

I truly didn't realize it was that cheap.

03:15:57 - 03:16:00 | Speaker 8:

Really? You don't eat a Big Mac, do you?

03:16:00 - 03:16:05 | Speaker 4:

No. But I'm surprised because they have sandwiches that are more expensive than the Big Mac. Yeah.

03:16:06 - 03:16:10 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. I don't know. I've never ordered a Big Mac. Big Macs are delicious. I like my happy meal. They are very good.

03:16:10 - 03:16:16 | Speaker 4:

Or if I'm very hungry, the two cheeseburgers. Double quarter pounder with cheese, add Big Mac sauce. Oh, now you're talking.

03:16:17 - 03:17:12 | Speaker 8:

Now you're talking. Yeah. And congratulations to the Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans, they have now entered the Sweet 16 and will face off against Kansas State on Thursday night. Here's an interesting thing for you. The Michigan State Spartans have now taken Tom Izzo to his 15th, I believe. Is that right? 15th? Yes. Sweet 16th. Here's another stat for you. This is a record he has just set. Tom Izzo. The most wins by a lower seed by their head coach. He has 16 wins over a seed that is much, you know, lower than him, meaning that they knocked off the number two seed and they were like the number seven seed because they beat Marquette in the game last night or yesterday evening. So it was pretty cool. It was a good game. It will be fun.

03:17:13 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 7:

And no one's talking about hockey, but congratulations to Michigan Big Ten champs this weekend.

03:17:17 - 03:17:23 | Speaker 8:

They made it with the Big Ten champs. So now, what is it, the national playoffs starting soon here, Ryan?

03:17:23 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 6:

I don't know because my girlfriend has completely taken over the TV for Michigan State basketball. Is she really? Oh, yeah.

03:17:31 - 03:18:15 | Speaker 8:

Does she watch other games too? Because Chelsea thinks it's ridiculous that I'm watching like Fairleigh Dickinson versus Florida International or something like that. She's like, why are you watching that? I'm like, it's exciting. You know, it's like, I don't know any of the players, any of the teams, but it's like a couple of teams where these guys, you know, actually work the concession stand at halftime and stuff. You know what I mean? It's pretty cool. Their parents still have to. Remember when your parents would have to volunteer time and do volunteer hours? I wonder if at some of these Cinderella schools, if their parents have to do volunteer hours. That would be kind of funny. All right. Have a great day. We're done for today. We will see you tomorrow. Mike, fabulous job, by the way, hosting us for Irish on Ionia. You and John and Dave and Ron and Schmitty and everybody was great.

03:18:15 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 7:

Everybody was awesome, but especially Mike because he went to all the meetings so we didn't have to.

03:18:19 - 03:18:27 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and he worked his butt off. We have Irish and I own you, Mike, because of you. Thank you.

03:18:27 - 03:18:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad you guys can make it. It's always better with you guys here, and so I'm glad it worked out.

03:18:31 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 8:

It was really a lot of fun. All right, we will see you tomorrow. Have a great day. Bye.
