Shannon, are you wanting to buy this, or are you being telemarketed? Because it sounds to me, she gets phone calls during the show all the time.

00:04:52 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm annoyed, but slash very impressed as well. Really? The persistence? The persistence is there.

00:05:00 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 1:

So my phone bill, my cell phone bill, obviously, because who has a home phone anymore, except for my mom, my cell phone bill has been all screwed up since I went away with my fiance West up to Paris back in January for my birthday, because I had like an international plan for like the short time I was there. Well, it never got taken off my bill, which it was supposed to because it was short term. So anyway, I called AT&T, that's my carrier, who I had last week to try to get it all sorted out. And the girl who helped me, her name is Andrea, was so incredibly nice and helpful. You know how you kind of get excited when you get somebody that sounds like nice and normal and you can have a conversation with them. This was her. I really liked her. So she figured out the situation right away, what was going on, got my phone bill all situated. And then she started asking me about my home Internet, which I kind of hate when they do that. But I totally understand. Here comes the sales job. Yeah, I totally understand that they have to. Well, I don't really love the Internet that I have right now, to be honest with you. So she's talking about this fiber internet that they just introduced actually in my neighborhood. Now I can get it. And she's like, and it's $17 cheaper a month than what you're paying. You know, I looked at what I was paying currently. And she's like, and it's way faster and this and this and this. I'm like, sign me up. She's like, we'll come to your house. There's no charge for equipment. There's no charge for installation. We're just going to get it for you. I'm like, all right, this sounds like a good plan. so she's getting me all set up and this was last maybe Tuesday or Wednesday and then we had to come in here and tape something and so KP had texted me saying you know we're ready for you so I said to her Andrea I have to go into a meeting for work is there any way that you can reach back out to me tomorrow and she's like yep no problem she did same exact time well at that time we were in her doing something and I'm like oh great she probably thinks I'm avoiding her If I actually really do want to sign up for this, I just didn't have time at the moment. So she left me a message with her extension, you know, over at AT&T or whatever. And so I wrote it on my list to call her back. Well, to be truthful, I haven't called her back yet. It's just not on the top of my list. Andrea has texted me from her personal cell phone every single day since last Tuesday to remind me about this. Again, I love the persistence, but also.

00:07:17 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

And she has your personal cell phone because she's your cell phone provider.

00:07:20 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 1:

Because she was helping me with my cell phone bill. Yeah, so she knows it.

00:07:25 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Because it's interesting because I didn't know that you could actually do the texting part. I thought once you started calling, but I guess it's communicating to you the way that you need to communicate. I don't know.

00:07:35 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I love her.

00:07:36 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

How did you know it was her personal cell phone?

00:07:38 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 1:

She said that.

00:07:39 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

So a number randomly came up and you had to go look and see who it was and it was Andrea.

00:07:44 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes. She said, this is my direct personal line.

00:07:48 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:07:49 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

She wants this sale. Oh, she wants that sale.

00:07:52 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Every day. Usually around 11 noon. It's the end of the month. You got to get bonused at the end of the month. I get a message from her.

00:07:58 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. She's persistent. I do need to call her today. There's a guy at the Costco that I go to that's the AT&T guy there. And I've said to him three times when I've gone in there, I said, Mr. Man from Costco. I said, he goes, what do you do for a living? and it's the first time. I go, I work for a radio station. And he goes, oh, really? I go, yeah, I'm Mojo from Mojo in the Morning. He goes, oh, okay, great. And he says, will you switch over? I go, no, I have Xfinity. And I love my Xfinity. And I actually am a Xfinity endorser. I get paid to endorse Xfinity. And every time I walk through Costco, he's asking me to switch to AT&T Fiber, which, by the way, I think you should do Xfinity. And I'm not saying that because they're paying me But I've got friends that have done it And it wasn't okay So don't tell Andre I said this

00:08:50 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Anything is better than what I have I'm telling you And it is not Xfinity and it is not AT&T So use your matinee sign

00:08:57 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 3:

But just think about that

00:08:58 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, your Costco guy, I feel like they just are in autopilot He just doesn't even look at faces He's probably just saying the same thing to everybody that walks by Because I've done the circle through the aisles before And I've come back, oh wait, I forgot Go back to the TV section And the guy will pitch me all over again I'm like, you just talked to me But they're not even looking at who they're talking to They're just saying it

00:09:16 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

So I went in there Because I wanted to buy Luke an iPad So going to college I'm trying to get him a new computer So I wanted to buy an iPad He has an iPad in his hand That he's sitting there holding Where he shows all his AT&T stuff So I started to ask him questions About his iPad I was trying to see if he can give me advice on the iPad

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

It's like, I got a job to do, man Get out of my face

00:09:40 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

No, but then he starts working it into, you could buy it with AT&T service on it. And he was doing the whole thing. He was doing the sales pitch.

00:09:47 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 1:

You've got to applaud it.

00:09:48 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you should get Andrea, and I should get the Costco guy, and we should turn them over to Kim and to Colleen, and we should hire them as salespeople at the station.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's so funny. So every day since last Tuesday, I've gotten a text.

00:10:00 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 3:

didn't get a text from her yesterday and i'm like oh man she's heartbroken she gave up on me but the day is not the same without my text from andrea andrea let's see how much she wants to sell text her and say hey you want to meet up at starbucks this afternoon and you can finish up

00:10:14 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 2:

and tell me about your program actually ask her to watch your kids tell her that you know tell her your babysitter canceled on you and we do it i you know it's so funny though talking to her that

00:10:24 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 3:

the one time i really did talk to her on the phone for you know a long time and i'm like i feel like Are you friends with Andrea? Yeah. I really like her.

00:10:31 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody ever become friends with the person that sold them something? Because my father-in-law is a car salesman, and he's been selling cars for years. And we would do Sunday dinner every single Sunday. We still will do occasionally if we're in the same town because they live in Arizona. And random people would show up at the kitchen table, and I would say, And how do you know Joe? And they'd be like, We bought 12 cars from him. You know what I mean? I'm like, he's inviting them over to the, you know, to the house and stuff. Maybe Andrea might invite you over.

00:11:00 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would love that. You might actually get yourself.

00:11:03 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

Actually, what you should do is you should get invited over now to see if her AT&T fiber is good.

00:11:08 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 3:

It's good, yeah.

00:11:09 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? To test it out. You should actually go there because you want to make sure that that thing's got a little juice to it, you know? How funny would it be if you showed up and she's got Xfinity? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Now that would be ironic, wouldn't it? That's like somebody that Mike works for one of the big three and drives a car that's not one of their vehicles, not one of their main vehicles. Oh, how dare they? Or people get mad at me because I have our radio station as the second preset on my car.

00:11:45 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

But that's a superstition thing.

00:11:46 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I have the first preset being the station that I feel is our most competitive station. so i have them as the first one and it's because in every city since i've been doing radio i do that and we beat them so that's my thing so that's my that's my uh doing it yeah and so i so i kind of uh keep that as my little superstition what's going on amy hi good morning guys how are you good what's happening we're talking about those great sales people those persistent sales people

00:12:16 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 1:

I actually met my boyfriend selling sneakers at Champs. Really? And we've been together for 10 years now. Wow.

00:12:23 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how did it go from you fitting him for shoes to you being his girlfriend?

00:12:31 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, I had a huge crush on him, and I would talk about him in our radios, like our walkie-talkies amongst my coworkers. I used to say how cute he was, and we just started talking, and we haven't ever stopped.

00:12:45 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 1:

He's a frequent customer.

00:12:47 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 3:

How often was he in for sneakers? That's wild. He's a rag, huh?

00:12:52 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 1:

You know, probably more frequently than he really should have been, but he just wanted to see me. Yeah.

00:12:58 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Amy, I have to ask the question.

00:13:01 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh?

00:13:02 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 2:

The size of the feet, does it matter to us? Does it?

00:13:07 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm not answering that.

00:13:08 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

You're not going to answer that. Okay, great. And can you get Mike and I deals on some Jordans?

00:13:13 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Not anymore, but a couple years ago, I could have hooked you up.

00:13:17 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 2:

Ah, crap. All right. Well, thank you so much. By the way, did you give your boyfriend lots of deals?

00:13:23 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 1:

I sure did. He deserved them.

00:13:25 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Remember the, you know what's funny about shoe salespeople? It's not like it used to be. You know, back 10 years ago, even, you would go into, say, a Macy's or a Nordstrom's, and there'd be a person, and they would actually put the shoe on for you.

00:13:39 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:13:39 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, and they would use that silver thing to measure your foot.

00:13:42 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 2:

Now they don't do that

00:13:44 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm not touching nobody's feet

00:13:45 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 2:

It's wild though I remember that It always bothered me that they would do it But now it bothers me that they don't Now you can't even find them

00:13:55 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh now I have to bend over and put my own shoe on

00:13:58 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

What's wrong with my feet that you can't do it Right Do you ever go to Dick's to go buy shoes And you can't find anybody To go get your shoes for you It's crazy And I love going there because they have a great selection But you're going in there, and you're like, I see it. I want to grab it. Like, I want to figure out how to grab it. And, you know, they won't, you know, I don't know, help you. So, all right. Well, Mojo in the Morning, got a lot of stuff to talk about today, a lot of things coming up on today's show. It was weird. I was, you know, preparing, and I'm on my way in, and I'm driving to work today, and I felt like the traffic just seemed like it was a lot busier than usual. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, and I'm glad. and it yeah it does look good and i'm thinking to myself as i'm driving work i'm like where are all these people going and i got so focused on following like three or four cars that were that were driving our way and then i realized i do like to see more cars on the roads because that means potentially more listeners but they all drove to the same starbucks that

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 4:

I went to, and it was the longest I've had to wait in, like, forever in the drive-thru to go get my coffee. All right, Mojo in the Morning giving away some Kid Lloroi tickets.

00:15:08 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 8:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell

00:15:16 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 4:

us what year it happened. All right, all happened in the same year. What year was this? It was the year that Beyonce caught crap for lip-syncing the national anthem at President Obama's inauguration. I did not feel

00:15:27 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 1:

comfortable taking a risk it was about the president and the inauguration and i wanted to make him in my country proud so i decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track which is very

00:15:39 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 4:

common in the music industry the curse was over in this year when the boston red sox won the world

00:15:44 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 3:

series and this is always my favorite whenever you see a rapper get together with a country

00:15:57 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 4:

artist. It was the number one song. Florida Georgia Lion and Nelly Cruz. What year was that?

00:16:15 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 8:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:16:24 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 4:

And the big song was Cruz. What year was that? Genevieve, how are you?

00:16:31 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, Mojo.

00:16:33 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you doing?

00:16:35 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 7:

I'm driving to work. My one day in the office listening to 95.5.

00:16:39 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I like that. So what do you do the rest of the time? Do you ever listen to us when you're at home?

00:16:44 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 7:

No, I just roll out of bed and start working.

00:16:47 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 4:

Come on. You know what? Before I even give you a chance to win a prize, I'm going to plug this for everybody. If you're an at-homer And maybe that today is your day Because I know that maybe that's the reason why Tuesday traffic was a little bit bigger People going one day You guys got to listen to our podcast You can listen to it at your convenience And just have our show You don't have to listen live I know you're working at home But have your phone or whatever device you like to listen on iPad, computer Automatically download and listen to the show So you can keep up on things Otherwise you know what's going to happen You're going to find out And this is crazy that this has happened But did you know that Megan is married And has now four kids Since you've been listening to us live

00:17:26 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 7:

No way Yes

00:17:29 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 4:

You didn't know

00:17:30 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 5:

Quadruplets Quadruplets actually

00:17:32 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 4:

00:17:33 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 5:

00:17:48 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

00:18:05 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 7:

I need to go to the office more.

00:18:07 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

I know. I know. What kind of work do you do that they aren't requiring you to come back in just once a week?

00:18:13 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 7:

More administrative in a business office. So we do. We were at home for two and a half years. So we just started coming back down last June.

00:18:22 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, what's trending in this dirty?

00:18:57 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, AFC Richmond was in D.C. yesterday. The cast of Ted Lasso paying visit to the White House to participate in a discussion with the president and the first lady on the importance of mental health. Well, then something happened. They're in the press room, and White House Press Secretary Corrine Jean-Pierre was getting screamed at by a Today News Africa correspondent named Simon Atiba while the cast is sitting there waiting to go up and speak.

00:19:27 - 00:19:28 | Unknown:

That's not right.

00:19:29 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 6:

Welcome, guys. Welcome. Welcome to the press briefing room. Okay.

00:19:36 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 8:

Are we ready?

00:19:39 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 6:

Are we going to behave? i love her i mean she took control of that room real quick i will not appreciate is disrespecting your colleagues and disrespecting guests who are here to talk who were here to talk about an incredibly important issue which is mental health and what has just occurred this last 10-15 minutes.

00:20:00 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 1:

is unacceptable. It is unacceptable. So we're either going to continue the briefing or we can just end the briefing right here.

00:20:10 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 2:

The third season of Ted Lasso, by the way, debuted on Apple TV Plus last week, kicking off its 12-episode season. You can see photos and video, by the way, from yesterday's little visit to the White House on the dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com. Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney said her boobs have gotten in the way of her success. Sydney said she's trying to break free from, yeah, being judged on her physicality. And that the most common misconception about her is, I'm big boobs, I'm blonde, and that's all I have. And she said this started when she was, you know, when she first got boobs when she was in school. She said her breakout role as Cassie in Euphoria was a big eye-opener. And she said the role reminded her of the scrutiny that she faced about her body as a young teenager in school. She said, I had big boobs before other girls, and I felt ostracized for it. She was trolled for a lot of the scenes that she did for Euphoria, faced widespread criticism from fans, actually. People, viewers, were taking screenshots of her nude scenes, sharing them online, and then commenting. And Sydney said, excuse me, it got to the point where they were tagging my family. My cousins don't need that. It's disgusting and unfair. We have a replacement for Tyra Banks as the co-host of Dancing with the Stars. Told you yesterday she's out. Her replacement is going to be Julianne Hough. So Julianne will be co-hosting with Alfonso Ribeiro. She was a dancer on the show. She was a judge on the show. So this makes a lot of sense to me. That's an easy fit.

00:21:48 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 3:

I think Tom Bergeron needs to come back.

00:21:51 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 2:

I liked Tom Bergeron for that show, by the way. I thought he was perfect for it.

00:21:55 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, this is Tom Bergeron. Stay tuned for more of Mojo in the Morning next.

00:21:59 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 3:

How am I going to use that ever again if Tom Bergeron doesn't get another job? I don't remember. Did he leave on his own or did he? No.

00:22:06 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 1:

What happened?

00:22:07 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, was it bad? They got rid of him. We don't know if he wanted more money or what the story was. No, he talked about it. They wanted to bring Tyra in. It was at a time that I think people were calling for the, that they wanted to have. Why do they not have anybody that's African-American on the show or do anything? So instead of just adding her to the show, they booted Tom Bergeron off of it. He was very hurt about that. But the guy's probably got a million dollars, you know, coming in in residuals from, what was the show that he did? America's Funniest Home Videos.

00:22:43 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, which we watch every night in my house. And Alfonso Ribeiro actually is now the new host of the show. And lastly, Tyga dropped $80,000 on a custom-made diamond necklace for his new lady, Avril Lavigne. New York City-based celebrity jeweler Eric Movani said the chain features 50 carats of black diamonds, white diamonds, and pink sapphires. It also has Avril's first name written out on it, a pair of A's written over pink hearts, and two skull heads with crossbones underneath them. The interesting part of this $80,000 necklace is it was commissioned by Tyga before she announced the end of her engagement to Maude's son. And if you're following that story, Maude's son only found out about the end of his engagement when it was announced. So this was happening behind the scenes for a long time.

00:23:28 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 3:

Shouldn't in relationships like this, he should wait a little bit to see what the relationship looks like? Like, hold off.

00:23:35 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, you know, buying big gifts like that in our world is probably not a good thing.

00:23:39 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

But how much do you think that he didn't pay for that?

00:23:41 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 2:

You know Yeah I don't know

00:23:45 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 3:

They probably gave it to him just for the social post Or something

MojoInTheMorning's Dirt And another phone scam coming up in minutes

00:24:03 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 3:

5S655 Coming up here in moments Got a new champion Tara's back today for her second win in a row. We're going to do a phone scam first, though. So Eden recently got laid off from her job. Her sister wanted to phone scam her. I would probably think that that's a bad timing thing when you're doing it, but Spike did call her, and she was a good sport. It's a mojo in the morning. Phone scam.

00:24:32 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the morning.

00:24:45 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hi, is this Eden? Yes, it is. Hi, Eden, this is Terry Ignacio. I work for Human Resources here at... How are you? If you have three short minutes, I'd like to conduct a quick employee interview that we're doing with all of our employees.

00:25:00 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 5:

employees um yeah i'm actually not an employee there anymore i got fired so you got fired oh

00:25:09 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 3:

well that's all right this is an exit interview to learn more about your experience here to help shape the future of our future workplace if i could just have three minutes of your time to see how you enjoyed your work experience how would you say you enjoyed working here um i didn't because i got fired oh okay well question number two do you think you were treated fairly at

00:25:34 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 5:

i mean not really like i did my job and they fired me so

00:25:40 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

okay that leads me to question number two then why did you choose to leave

00:25:47 - 00:25:54 | Speaker 5:

again i did not choose to leave um they let me go so oh well i didn't have a place to put

00:25:54 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 3:

put a check mark for that. I'll just put change of scenery. Yeah, did they not tell you I was laid off? Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe I'm working off an old list here, but that's okay because we could still get your experiences on the survey in just about 60 seconds. What were the highlights

00:26:09 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 5:

or the pluses of working here? The pay, the benefits, the promotional opportunities were all great if I was there, which I'm not because they laid me off. All right. And what were the

00:26:20 - 00:28:07 | Speaker 3:

minuses they fired me do you think you were treated fairly at you already asked that oh well it's just a standard interview then i have to ask everyone who chooses to leave the company i didn't choose to leave the company do you have any complaints or regrets about leaving yeah they fired me well i've been putting that for all these answers Well, then I guess the interview's over. Oh, boy. I can see I called you at a bad time, and you're a little bit crabby. Is there a better time I can call? Not really. Oh, boy. I only got answers to questions one through five. I have 18 more questions to ask. I don't think we're going to do that, Ted. Oh, my name's Terry. Whatever. Right, funny, which actually that reminds me of another reason I'm calling. They had a mix-up of names, and they asked me to tell you that the last paycheck may be delayed until the computer thing gets sorted out. Are you serious? They're going to have to sort that out. A couple people got messed up, so it may take an extra six to eight weeks to get your last paycheck. Oh, my God. Are you f***ing me right now? I'm sorry. Yeah, it's going to be a little bit of a headache, I imagine. Jesus. You want to just answer your last 18 questions for me? No, thank you. All right. Well, just remember, if you got any paychecks from us in the mail, you can't cash those, okay? What? Well, the ones they're sending you after your termination, they have the wrong name. You can't cash it, this one either. I'm looking at one right here on the paper. It reads, Eden Leiden Bo Beeden, you've just been the victim of a mojo in the morning phone scam. Eden, this is Spike, and you're on the radio with us right now.

00:28:07 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Okay, so my paychecks are delayed.

00:28:10 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 3:

Paychecks are fine. I'm sorry you got laid off. Your sister wanted us to harass you a little bit.

00:28:16 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 5:

Great. My sister's mad I'm getting paid to sleep in.

00:28:22 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. You're home with the phone scams.

00:28:30 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, baby. Can I ask you a question? I'm good.

00:28:35 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Tell your smart device to play the Mojo in the Morning show on iHeartRadio. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:28:44 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 3:

5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:28:49 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 1:

All right, time now for the 5 at 6.55. Tara won yesterday in an upset. I think she was even surprised by it. And your son is there with you right now. What's your son's name?

00:29:02 - 00:29:05 | Speaker 4:

My son's name is Jonathan. No, he's at his dad's right now.

00:29:06 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 1:

He is, okay. And Jonathan wanted you just to play just to win tickets to Comic-Con.

00:29:11 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like, I listen to Bob and Tom in the morning going to school.

00:29:15 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Okay.

00:29:16 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 4:

And this has been, yeah, so him and I listening to you guys in the morning has been a great trick down memory lane.

00:29:23 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I like that. Wait a second. So you listen to us and Bob and Tom? Come back to us. What happened with Bob? What's up with Bob and Tom? What do you like about them?

00:29:31 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they were just, they were lame. My dad loved listening to them. Oh, okay.

00:29:36 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 1:

I thought you said you listen to Bob and Tom right now.

00:29:38 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. That was when I was like 12.

00:29:41 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, when you were 12 years old. So now you're listening to us. All right, good.

00:29:43 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 2:

I was like, wait a second.

00:29:44 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 1:

All right, Tara. I was a little bit worried there. I'm thinking to myself, we're going to lose anybody. I can't imagine losing to Bob and Tom when Bob or Tom is not even on the show anymore. He's right. Well, here's the thing. You're back. Two in a row today is who you're going for. What you're going for? Is it Trav? Is that how you pronounce it, Trav? Yeah. Trav, where are you from? Grand Rapids. Nice to have you on. Say hello to Tara from Ohio. Hi, Tara. Hello, Trav. Locking you up in a soundproof area, Tara. We'll be right back with you. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty, always goes to the champion. Trav, you ready for this? All right, yep. All right, you a little nervous? You sound a little nervous? Yeah, a little bit. Don't worry about it. I think you're going to be fine. Here we go. So, question number one in the five of 655. The Michigan State Spartans are heading to the Sweet 16 after Sunday's win against Marquette. Who is the head coach of the men's basketball team? Tom Izzo. Question number two. Tyra Banks said that she is moving on as the host of Dancing with the Stars after three seasons. Which game show host did she replace? Hint, he's the former host of America's Funniest Home Videos. Tom Burton. Question number three, rapper Travis Scott is being called out by Dennis Rodman over a Nike sneaker design that looks similar to his from back in the day. Name one of the teams that Rodman played for. Three seconds. The Chicago Bulls. Question number four, Ed Sheeran just announced a new documentary about his life that is coming out on Disney+. How many kids does Ed have? Zero. And question number five, Gwyneth Paltrow is being sued over a hit-and-run ski accident that happened years ago. What's the name of Gwyneth's controversial wellness brand? Three seconds. I don't know. Pass on that one. Let's bring the champ back. Here we go. How do you think you did, Trav? Three out of five. Yeah, you're right. Three out of five. Yep. You know what, though? Three out of five won yesterday, right, Tara? You remember that. It did. It did. Here we go. Question number one. The Michigan State Spartans are headed to the Sweet 16 after Sunday's win against Marquette. Who is the head coach of the men's basketball team? Oh, I don't. I don't pass. Oh, my goodness. Really? That one's a hang-up, butter. Tom Izzo. She's from Ohio, though. She could be a Buckeyes fan, right? Ew. Oh. Well, who are you a fan of? I don't want to stay on the radio. I'll go hate mail. Oh, really? Okay. All right. Never want to know. Alabama? Notre Dame? Who?

00:32:45 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

The Steelers. The Steelers? Well, Steelers. Okay, totally. All right. Sports questions are going to get Tara. Question number two. Tyra Banks said that she is moving on as host of Dancing with the Stars after three seasons. Which game show host did she replace? Here's a hint. He's the former host of America's Funniest Home Videos. Three seconds. No, it's not Bob Saget. Is that your answer? Three seconds. No. Tom Bergeron. Tom Bergeron. You cannot miss any more of these questions. And guess what? This next question. They're getting hard. No. This next question is a sports question. So I'll have Lydia pull out the prize for you and grab your information. Lydia put T-A-R-A. All right, here we go. Question number three. Rapper Travis Scott is being called out by Dennis Rodman over a Nike sneaker design that looks similar to his from back in the day. Name one of the basketball teams that Rodman played for. Oh, the L.A. Lakers? Yes! Wow! Good guess! Played for the Pistons, the Bulls, the Lakers, the Spurs, and the Mavericks. You've got to get these next two questions right to win with a tie. Question number four. Ed Sheeran just announced a new documentary about his life that's coming out on Disney+. How many kids does Ed have? None. No, you guys both said that. No, that's so random. Two. We got a new champion in the five of 655. One and done for Tara. Trav, you win. Congratulations. Trav, I think. Trav, did we lose you too? No, no. Ah, there you go. You're a man of excitement and joy, aren't you? My God. I'm just shocked. I know. Well, listen, that did it to Tara yesterday. Tara was shocked. She didn't think three out of five was going to make her a champion, but it did. Two days in a row, three out of five was the answer. Tara, we have a parting gift for you.

00:35:00 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 2:

You get to go take Jonathan to Red Robin. We're going to give you a $50 gift card to Red Robin. Yum. Congratulations. Oh, thank you guys so much. Thanks for having me. Thank you so much. Trav, we'll see you tomorrow, buddy. Have a great time today, and make sure you study up, all right?

00:35:17 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 3:

All right. Have a good day, guys.

00:35:18 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. Thanks, guys.

00:35:19 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the mornings. 5 at 6.55.

00:35:28 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. You know, we haven't done this in a while, but we're going to do it because of Spike's dinner last night. But let's do a nutritional check-in with our listeners to find out what they ate for dinner last night. Because whenever we do this, we always end up finding out that our listeners are just like us. They're the most un-nutritional people in the world. After hearing about what you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But we're going to focus on dinner last night. So what was for dinner last night? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Spike wants to start it off this morning. Spike, what was for dinner last night?

00:36:09 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 1:

Mondays are hectic, and Mondays are nights where everybody realized they forgot to go grocery shopping over the weekend. And typically, if left to care for myself, I will surely die. Thank God my girlfriend loves to cook and takes care of me because without her, I would be in trouble. St. Patrick's Day weekend, we were partying in St. Patrick's Day for Irish on Ionia. I just was not prepared to have to make my own dinner. So since I was responsible for myself last night, I was obviously too lazy to shop or cook on the way home. I had dinosaur oatmeal, Pikachu crackers, an Uncrustable, and an applesauce, one of those little tubs of applesauce. So I basically ate everything in the cupboard that Meg bought for her six-year-old son.

00:36:55 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 2:

But question for you.

00:36:56 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:36:57 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 2:

Did you pull them all out at the same time and then sit at the table eating them? Oh, you didn't just keep going back for more and that was what you were doing?

00:37:03 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 1:

No, I actually, this, I...

00:37:05 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so then it's a planned dinner.

00:37:06 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 1:

I curated this meal.

00:37:08 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I was going to say, and did you pull out like a plate and put it all on a plate or did you eat it right out of the packaging? No, no, no. That would be crazy. That would be nuts. But if you look at what you had for dinner and if you slowly pull one thing after another because you're just not satisfied and you want more, then it's a bad meal. If you plan it, then it's planned. It's kind of like if you had vegetables, a starch, and a protein on your plate.

00:37:32 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 3:

That took some thought.

00:37:33 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, I also, I didn't even turn the lights on in the kitchen to get the meal. I just went in the cupboard and grabbed everything. And I just got a text saying, what did you do last night? I said, what do you mean? She goes, there's like powder and oats all over the counter. And it's because I was in the dark dumping the dinosaur oatmeal into a bowl and just trying to make it without having to turn the lights on because I was watching a lovely TV show on Disney+. And then I ended up leaving dinosaur, not the eggs. Of course, I got all the eggs because I have to see what dinosaurs they turn into when the hot water hits them.

00:38:03 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

How did that dinosaur oatmeal my mom would never buy that?

00:38:05 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 2:

My go-to lately has been, because it will be getting unhealthy, is I'll scramble eggs and that will be my thing. Yeah. But then I will eat like 12 other things besides it because I realize scrambled eggs are not satisfying you, except for in the morning maybe. But let's go. Let's go through this. What did you have for dinner last night? Ben, what'd you have?

00:38:28 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 3:

Chihuahua. It's like a Serbian hot dog, basically, made with beef and pork mixed together.

00:38:35 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 2:

If you call it chihuahua, it sounds better than if you said, I had a hot dog, you know?

00:38:40 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know. Well, the lady didn't know what chihuahua was, so I said Serbian hot dog.

00:38:44 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 2:

The lady didn't know. Well, that's Lydia. Lydia, I'm surprised, Lydia, that you did not know that, because Lydia is Chaldean, And I have no idea why I said that But I thought maybe Chaldeans and Serbians liked each other Or knew each other She's shaking her head Jay, what did you have for dinner last night?

00:39:04 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I'm Jay I had two one pound tacos last night Oh my god Where are you getting a one pound taco? Jealous So we just make a ton of taco meat And I just love tacos Wow You know what? I'm always down for tacos.

00:39:23 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 2:

That's healthy, buddy. That is a healthy meal right there. One pound taco sounds great. It's Taco Tuesdays today for me. What's up, Callie?

00:39:32 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I had, let me just say, I love you guys.

00:39:36 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, we love you, too.

00:39:37 - 00:39:45 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too. I had a chicken bacon mozzarella burger, a plate of macaroni, and three crepes.

00:39:45 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wow. That's a feast.

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, that's pretty impressive. You know what they call that?

00:39:50 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 2:

They call that a smorgasbord that's what you had right there It's a smorgasbord I'm telling you

00:40:00 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 1:

So good, Callie.

00:40:04 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 2:

Callie, how are you feeling this morning? By the way, wait until you go poop. It's going to be the most amazing poop ever.

00:40:09 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 7:

I'm doing good, actually.

00:40:12 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 2:

Call us later and tell us.

00:40:13 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 7:

That was the most amazing poop ever. I know.

00:40:17 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 2:

Lindsay, what did you have?

00:40:20 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 7:

I had a pepperoni.

00:40:22 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 2:

That's it, a pepperoni.

00:40:23 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 7:

Wine, pepperoni. That is it.

00:40:25 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 4:

Like on a diet? Like just a big log of meat?

00:40:30 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 7:

I'm not, but I feel great. I just, I didn't have a lot. I just didn't work till late. What are you going to do?

00:40:36 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's funny because later this hour, I'm going to talk about my drunk purchase, my drunk Instagram that I did yesterday, but pepperoni was part of my purchase. I had pepperoni in that purchase.

00:40:49 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 3:

I do love waking up in the morning and I'm like, oh, I didn't really eat that big of a dinner. I'm going to go all out for breakfast because my stomach is so empty, starving.

00:40:58 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't believe Saturday because we really didn't eat. We had like one quick meal or whatever, you know, because we were so busy. But I weighed myself on Sunday morning. I was down three and a half pounds.

00:41:09 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:41:10 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 2:

So yesterday I went to a listener's house and we had three and a half pounds of tacos. I'll go along with the burritos. I'm still thinking of that guy, by the way. He's made me envious.

00:41:21 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 4:

How do you even fit a pound of things into one taco?

00:41:24 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

That's the thing. Well, he did it in a burrito. That's even worse because you can't ever keep the burrito shell, the flour shell.

00:41:32 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 3:

That's probably what? Like a Chipotle?

00:41:35 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

What do you think a Chipotle burrito weighs? They're not. Half a pound? No, they're less than that. You eat two of those. Don't you think that's a pound? Like a quarter or something? Of meat, though? Yeah.

00:41:42 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 3:

If you're putting, because when you cook it, you're cooking some of it out.

00:41:48 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:41:49 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's as hard to do as you think.

00:41:52 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 2:

I think that's a lot. You're talking about the guy had two of them. He had six pounds of meat. That's a lot of meat.

00:41:58 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:41:58 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 2:

Don't you think? Six pounds.

00:42:01 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 3:

Where'd you get one pound and one pound equals six?

00:42:03 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 2:

No, he had three and a half pound, two three and a half pound burritos.

00:42:06 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought he said he had one pound.

00:42:08 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 2:

No, I thought he said three and a half pounds. I don't know our math. Now I'm getting confused.

00:42:11 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 4:

It was a smorgasbord.

00:42:12 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

It was a smorgasbord or stuff, yes. What did you have, Carissa?

00:42:17 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 6:

I had a hot pocket and pickles.

00:42:20 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 4:

Wow. It's time for a pregnancy test. That sounds like a craving meal right there.

00:42:26 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 6:

I didn't get home until 8 p.m.

00:42:29 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 4:

So it's just whatever was in the fridge and freezer.

00:42:33 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 1:

Was the pickle because you had to wait for the hot pocket to not be so damn hot?

00:42:38 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 6:

No, I bought new pickles from Freaking Pickles at the Women's Expo.

00:42:43 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, that sounds good. They were really good. A little small business. Nobody ever buys new pickles. There's just always that jar of pickles that have been in the fridge for three years.

00:42:51 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 2:

I told Chelsea, I said, you know, that I'm trying to be healthy, so I eat these pickles every single night. I was doing this. And they're butter pickles. And Chelsea showed me the sugar contents in butter pickles. Have you ever had butter pickles before?

00:43:05 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 3:

Those are Smith's favorite. He eats them with a fork out of the jar.

00:43:08 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 2:

I think I seriously have to check my blood sugar because I probably have, like, the worst blood sugar right now. But I thought they were healthy for the longest time.

00:43:20 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she's like, you thought something with butter in the name was healthy.

00:43:24 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, because I didn't think that they put butter in it, but it just tasted like butter. I don't know.

00:43:29 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 5:

So I was told that I have to do a disclaimer at the beginning of this thing, but I think that it's gotten a little carried away right now. You parents, if you have little kids with.

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 3:

And when we mean little kids, we're talking about little kids that later in life are going to probably need a little help.

00:45:06 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 1:

Turn it down.

00:45:06 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 3:

Turn the radio down.

00:45:07 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 1:

Turn it down. Yeah. I don't want to ruin it for anybody.

00:45:09 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 3:

You don't want to ruin it for anybody. But I think there are certain things that are considered to be like secrets from your kids.

00:45:17 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 1:

No, this.

00:45:17 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 3:

This is one of those ones where it's gotten carried away.

00:45:20 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 1:

No, I agree with you. Trust me. On behalf of all parents, please make it stop. It would almost be. Please make it stop.

00:45:29 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 2:

It would almost be a service for us to ruin this surprise and stop society from making this any bigger of a thing than it already is.

00:45:34 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 1:

And you guys will vouch for me here. I get really into, I'm one of the weird parents. I love having an elf on the shelf visit our house. I love Santa Claus. The Easter bunny creeps me out, but I love Easter baskets. I love the tooth fairy. I love it all. I draw the line at the leprechaun that had to visit my house over the weekend. Okay? Did you know this was a thing?

00:45:58 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 3:

because this is a thing. I think I knew it only because maybe a year ago you mentioned it. I mentioned it, and I said no.

00:46:04 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 1:

I put the kibosh on it. You said no to it? I said no, and because both of my kids, Lucy, who's almost nine, Smith, who's five, came home last year, and they were like, oh, there's a leprechaun that's coming to our house for St. Patrick's Day. And I said, mom has never, ever had a leprechaun visit her, and we don't have a leprechaun at our house. Well, I got away with it last year. Well, this year on St. Patrick's Day, they both came home from school. every kid in their class apparently was going to have a leprechaun come visit them. And they had to make a trap and all these things. And I said, guys, we don't have a leprechaun. And I felt like such a mean mom, truly. Because I do. I love getting into all this stuff. But I was like, you gotta put a boundary in here somewhere. Right? And this is my boundary.

00:46:53 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 3:

So this leprechaun thing Just shows up and what does it do

00:46:58 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 1:

No so you have to set a trap for the leprechaun And then the leprechaun Comes into your house and It never gets trapped It sets off the trap And creates mischief in your house Some people's leprechauns leave gifts And then it Goes away

00:47:15 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 3:

So there's really no Seeing a leprechaun It's not like there's an elf You don't see a leprechaun

00:47:23 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

It makes mischief in your house

00:47:25 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

God, I'm glad my kids are older. No, no, no. You got one at home.

00:47:28 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you have a little one. You got one at home. I tell Lucy and Smith, we're not doing a leprechaun. You guys can set a trap, but I'm just telling you, we don't have a leprechaun that visits her house. Well, what does Wes do? My fiancee comes to my house, unbeknownst to me, by the way, with all these bags of stuff. We're making a leprechaun trap. And I'm like, you are a better man than me. And he was so excited. They built this thing and put a pulley on my dining room. I mean, they made it this big thing.

00:47:56 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 3:

Did you know when you met him that you were going to be getting a third child?

00:47:59 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

He's a third child. He's a third child, okay? So the leprechaun, overnight, didn't get trapped but set off the trap. He left gold glitter footprints everywhere, all over my kids' faces, all over my kitchen counter. Well, fast forward to, it is now Tuesday, March 21st. The footprints that have been left on my counter, I think he must have bought some sort of super glue, won't come off.

00:48:27 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

00:48:28 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

So I have about 200 little gold dots that I have tried nail polish remover. I have tried Goo Gone. I have tried Oven Cleaner. My next thing that I'm going to try today is to scrape it, but I don't want to ruin my counter over this leprechaun. And here's the other thing that's happening. Smith is now absolutely terrified to go to bed because he thinks little leprechauns are going to be running around his room when he's sleeping. So now Andrew called me the night before last and he goes, what is going on? Why won't Smith go to bed? He keeps talking about a leprechaun and then he's scared.

00:49:03 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:49:04 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 1:

The whole thing has backfired so bad.

00:49:06 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

So we need to stop this.

00:49:07 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 1:

We are tapped out. Moms are tapped out.

00:49:10 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

No more stupid things on shelves that are watching.

00:49:13 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

It is the worst peer pressure. And then you're the bad mom if everybody else in the class has a leprechaun that comes to their house and you're not, there's no leprechaun for you.

00:49:21 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 3:

I think that this is, you know, fantasy world is fun for the kids. But I don't think that we need to have fantasy world for every holiday. Right. Like, I think there are certain, like, St. Patrick's Day, honestly, let's let it be an adult holiday. Let's just have mom and dad drink and that's it. You know what I mean? I mean, kids wear green on St. Patrick's Day, that's fine. But we don't need to have all the Shamrock shakes is enough

00:49:44 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 1:

Andrew had Smith call me last night Because he was scared to go to bed And he's like I'm so scared that the leprechauns Are going to come to my room now At dad's They're going to follow me to dad's I go Smith

00:49:51 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh great Wes Smith You've now given this guy nightmares

00:49:53 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I go a big bunny Walks around your house on Easter That's scarier to me

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Leprechauns though

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 5:

seemed like i would be more scared of leprechauns than a bunny but there's also those horror movies

00:50:04 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 1:

that have that evil leprechaun so if you google leprechaun sometimes the creepiest pictures come

00:50:08 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 2:

up michelle what's up good morning how are you guys good michelle do you good for now but they're

00:50:14 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 1:

gonna start having turkey on a shelf and earth day tree on a on a hey let's not let's not knock

00:50:20 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 5:

out turkey on a shelf that doesn't sound bad honestly do you do this michelle so we have a

00:50:26 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 2:

leprechaun that visits our house every year and my kids set a trap there's six and four but this trap is the cereal container you keep cereal in okay so he just brings lucky charms every day every saint you got a simple leprechaun right he doesn't cause mischief in my house but it all started from preschool they set traps every day up until saint patty's day but never

00:50:51 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 5:

caught him should we have a conversation with preschool teachers that they need to find new

00:50:55 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 2:

lesson plans i'm just saying it's pretty sure it's the preschool teacher's fault i love teachers but let me tell you this is where it started and we've set a trap for three years now and every year he brings us lucky charm so amazing well i'll take that leprechaun i like

00:51:12 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 6:

that leprechaun's visiting my house next year i'm cool with that that's louis the lazy leprechaun

00:51:17 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

he's been drinking lauren what's happening it's mojo in the morning show hey good morning i got ambushed by my six-year-old at the kindergarten lunch when I walked in and everyone's talking about their leprechaun. My son asked me why we don't have a leprechaun. That's it. That's how

00:51:34 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 5:

it happens. It's a pure pressure. Did you tell him he has a roof over his head and warm clothes?

00:51:39 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's my big gripe with this. He just moved, and so I told him, I said,

00:51:45 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 3:

he doesn't know where we live yet. I didn't know what to do. Yeah, that'll buy you a year.

00:51:49 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 1:

Like somebody in 24H is Texas We have a birthday fairy Why do you parents want to continue With this stuff that takes the credit Away from you for all the wonderful things You do for your children

00:52:01 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 5:

Your kids go to therapy later in life and they hate you

00:52:04 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes you're stressing them out Because there's always some magical creature spying on them Why don't you just say We're the parents we bought you the birthday gifts Not a birthday fairy

00:52:13 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 6:

Honestly you just said birthday fairy And it makes me want to cry Because I have a birthday coming up And I don't want to be anything

00:52:19 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 5:

Spike, you are absolutely right. These parents don't understand when later in life their kids do go to therapy, they're all going to sit around going, my parents didn't do anything for me. It was a little fairy elf fat guy

00:52:36 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 1:

bunny. Why do you need an elf on a shelf to threaten your children to be good for three months? We were already given the greatest threat of Santa Claus is watching. Naughty list.

00:52:47 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 6:

I like the elf, yeah. Hold on

00:52:49 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 5:

00:53:00 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 5:

00:53:09 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 4:

you can i mean these parents do all of this stuff for their kids right and then they post it on social media so yeah what's that saying comparison is the thief of joy yep i mean you can do this

00:53:23 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 6:

stuff and not put it on social media i am guilty of putting it on but i had no hand in creating it

00:53:29 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 1:

your sentence was half right when you said they do this for their kids they're just doing it for

00:53:33 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 4:

the instagram that's it exactly and it makes me feel like a bad mom and i'm tired of it yeah you

00:53:39 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 5:

00:53:54 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 4:

how clean are your countertops i keep my countertops really very you don't have anything on your counter no gold glitter footsteps um no my husband clutters them up like he's the type like

00:54:08 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 5:

00:54:16 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 1:

Right. All right. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. Coming up at 7.50. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:54:26 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 5:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending, Shanna, with the Dirty on the 30.

00:54:29 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 6:

All right. So this is a really sad story. Actress Amanda Bynes, man, she's just in bad shape. She's been placed on a psychiatric hold after she was found roaming the streets of downtown L.A. naked and alone. and eyewitness saw her. I don't know if they knew who she was or just thought, like, okay, there's this woman, you know, she's naked. This was early Sunday morning, I believe, is when this happened, and Amanda ended up waving this woman's car down and told her she was coming down from a psychotic episode.

00:55:00 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 1:

Amanda herself then called 911. She was taken to a nearby police station where a mental health team determined that she needed to be placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. So she is currently hospitalized, getting the care that she needs. Typically, I believe, and please correct me if I'm wrong here, a psychiatric hold only lasts 72 hours, but it can be extended. And, you know, she was under a conservatorship for quite some time. It ended beginning of last year. She seemed to be doing okay. So I don't know if her parents or her legal team will step in now at this point. Gwyneth Paltrow's trial is set to start after she was sued over a hit-and-run ski accident that happened back in 2016. And I'm hearing she will most likely take the stand here. The trial is set to begin today in Park City, Utah. And if you don't know this story, Gwyneth was hit with this lawsuit. Again, back in, this was a couple of years ago, the lawsuit. The accident happened in 2016. The lawsuit happened a few years later, and it was created by a Utah resident named Terry Sanderson, who claimed that Gwyneth slammed into him while skiing, causing him to suffer a concussion and broken ribs. This victim claimed an instructor who was behind Gwyneth Paltrow accused him of causing the crash and says he filed a false report with the ski resort, blaming him for this crash that he said it was not my fault. It was her fault. He's asking for just over $3 million in damages, to which Gwyneth Paltrow filed a countersuit for just $1, again calling him out for causing the collision. She cites the resort incident report as proof for her side of the story. Travis Scott is being called out by Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman over a sneaker design back in the mid-'90s. I don't remember this. Obviously, I wasn't a sports fan in any way, but Dennis Rodman debuted a pair of white and aqua shoes, the Nike Air Darwins. Did you have these? I did not, but I know. Wasn't it a backwards swoosh? He was, yes. And that was so distinguishable about them?

00:57:09 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 3:

I recall when I looked at the story that I remembered those shoes, yes.

00:57:14 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So in 2019, Travis Scott collaborated with Nike to release the brown and white AJ1 Retro High OG sneakers, Which also happened to feature a backwards Nike swoosh So I know Rodman was at the Got Soul Sneaker Convention in Chicago over the weekend Held up his shoes, held up Travis Scott's shoes Pointing out all of the similarities And he basically said, Travis Scott copied my shoe At least to give me some credit here

00:57:45 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 2:

I was looking at them and really they're just high tops with backwards swooshes Other than that, I don't think there's a similarity

00:57:51 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, the colors are different. Yeah. The style is different. The pattern of the leather is different.

00:57:55 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:57:56 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Ed Sheeran announced a brand new Disney Plus documentary series that will focus on his life called The Sum of It All. It's a four-part series. What'd you say? I said, I see what he did there. Yeah, I know. The Sum, like, that's what he did. His new album is called Subtract. Anyway, it's going to open the door into Ed's private life, and it's going to feature some never before seen and some present day interviews with his family his wife terry and you know he's always been so fiercely private so this is big but he said he feels like now is the right time

00:58:28 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 4:

to open him up you guys said do you want to make a documentary and i went yeah it should be me in the studio i'm gonna play the gig that's not what the documentary is i lost it just took over my life every time something massive happens i tend to write a song about it airs on disney plus

00:58:49 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 1:

on may 3rd which is two days before his new subtract album is released i'll watch oh yeah

00:58:56 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 2:

i love music documentaries that billy eilish one was amazing and again this one's four parts

00:59:02 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

yeah good and lastly check this out this is for you mike i also hope wes is listening right now Dad jokes are actually good for your kids See Bad jokes can help kids cope with embarrassment or awkwardness They actually have a positive effect on your kids' development Researchers suggest that when dads embarrass their kids with very unfunny jokes It helps teach them how to overcome awkwardness Like how much embarrassment can they handle that helps build up that barrier right there. And it shows kids that embarrassment is not fatal. It's not the end of the world. And so the study encourages dads to continue aiding their children's development by telling bad and embarrassing jokes. This researcher said you are partaking in a...

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 2:

A long and proud tradition, and your embarrassingly awful jokes may even do them some good. So keep repeating the same old, stale jokes year in, year out.

01:00:10 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 1:

In that little research project, do they say what it does for your marriage, though? How do dad jokes go over with wives?

01:00:16 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 2:

That would be a good side study. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

01:00:21 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 3:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30, and another world-famous phone scan is next.

01:00:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 1:

Coming up in moments, we're going to do a scam, a senseless survey. We'll see how many questions Mr. Bob Dabalina can get out before somebody just goes, enough, and hangs up the phone. Robin? Yes? Hello, Robin. You are $100 richer. Congratulations. Thank you. We're setting you up with $100. It's our spring broke, giving you cash, courtesy of Ideal You. want to lose weight want to lose 20 30 even 40 pounds in time for your spring break or maybe summer vacation uh go to idealu.us you want a hundred dollar cash card we'll give it so much we'll give another one away coming up next hour appreciate you for listening have a great day you too thank you all right it's mojo in the morning show so last night was a bad night i was all alone at home which actually was a good thing because You're all alone at home What do you do? You watch whatever you want to So I watched the first episode of Ted Lasso

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, how was it?

01:01:33 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 1:

It was actually good This is promising So this is promising in the third and last season And then I poured myself a big old glass of Eagle Rare bourbon

01:01:44 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

Did you really? On a Monday?

01:01:46 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes, on a Monday night, isn't that crazy? Can you believe that? Yeah Well, you know, sometimes you gotta have that, right? I get it And I wanted to have a good night's sleep, and I ended up having a very, very good night's sleep. But I realized, while that was the case, that I also was supposed to go yesterday to go and get some things at the grocery store and stop by Kroger, and I didn't. So I'm sitting on the couch, and I picked up my phone and ended up putting in for a little Kroger delivery. and I kind of realized it's probably not a good idea when I'm drunk on bourbon because when the delivery was dropped off finally at my house, the delivery person goes, you're going to have a great day. And I said, yeah. And I'm thinking, whoa, I go into my kitchen with my delivery. I've got chips, salsa, you know, the cheese, the nacho cheese that's like the great one that you heat up the little glass thing in your microwave, and you sit there and dip all along. Skittles. Skittles. M&M's.

01:02:57 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 2:

Were they Skittles for you?

01:02:58 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 1:

I don't even like Skittles.

01:03:00 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, I've never seen you eat Skittles.

01:03:01 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 1:

So Wes and I were having a conversation, your fiance and I were having a conversation on Saturday about how he's allergic to red dye. Oh, yeah. And I said, yeah, I heard Skittles has red dye. For some reason, I've had Skittles in my mind the whole time. And I'm like, I'm not allergic to red dye. I want some Skittles. I want to taste the rainbow. But I started going through this where I'm going, oh, my God, I think I did a drunk purchase. And I saw a story over the weekend about drunk purchases. And I thought that this was actually pretty wild. that 17% of Americans have admitted that they shopped while drunk in the last year?

01:03:39 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 2:

17%?

01:03:39 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 1:

17%. Come on. Which is down from 2020 because in 2020, a record $44 billion was spent on intoxicated shopping sprees.

01:03:51 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

That number is so low.

01:03:52 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 1:

But remember, in 2020, we were going through COVID.

01:03:54 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 2:

For sure, but I'm saying it's got to be more than 17% of people.

01:03:58 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 1:

Do you know what the average drunk purchase is? How much? Huh? $309 for a drunk purchase.

01:04:04 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 2:

Wait, that's expensive.

01:04:05 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's a lot of money. You know, to me, the easiest thing is an Amazon drunk purchase. You just go on Amazon and you're like, I'm going to get myself one of those.

01:04:17 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Megan, I know you know what I'm talking about here because I think we've talked about this before and you do it too. I have like carts on a lot of different websites. Just ready to go. Ready to go. but like I'll usually put something in there to either wait for it to go on sale or try to decide do I really need that or you know whatever and I feel like I get drunk courage of like oops I just hit the button and I like back up from my phone or my computer it gives me the courage to like hit purchase and then I get it in the mail a couple days later I'm like oh it's buyer's remorse so I bought something Zooted the other day and it just showed up in the mail and I forgot I bought it and it was like christmas oh that's bad i was like who is this santa claus

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 7:

Oh, it's me under the influence. I love me.

01:05:05 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 1:

I want to know, and I'm hoping that we get the monumental call, like the call of the day that you become our Instagram story of the day that we can tell everybody this is the call that you've got to listen to and why you've got to listen to this whole thing. I want to know who made the craziest drunk purchase. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Do we have anybody that bought an elephant or something like that? Where can I buy an elephant? What was it that you bought When you were drunk That when it got delivered to the house You had to explain that maybe you had A little bit too much vodka There was too much Tito's That was poured down your throat

01:05:47 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 8:

844-MOJO-LIVE

01:05:51 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 1:

844-665-6548 Hey, what's going on? How you doing, Brittany? good Brittany what was your drunk purchase I bought a cruise that left out

01:06:05 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 7:

of Florida the next morning did you go that is awesome by the way we start off

01:06:27 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 1:

with the best one right there right come on somebody's gotta top it we're gonna get great

01:06:30 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

one geez how did you get your money back because i'd be like sorry um it was actually through

01:06:35 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 1:

groupon so really yeah they made it easy they made it easy for drunk purchases ella what's going on

01:06:42 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 6:

how you doing hi good how are you good what was your drunk purchase so i purchased an australian fish pond an australian fish pond yes it's it was a fish pond from australia that came with exotic fish but what had happened was it it was around a black friday a couple years ago and they i thought i was part of the target scam because i had shopped at target the black friday that everyone got their like credit card or debit card information for scams and all of a sudden I see this charge on my account like this isn't mine so I'm like disputing it just because I don't remember and I'm disputing it disputing it and then all of a sudden this scam comes in the mail and I'm like okay I guess this wasn't a scam because how would this person know my address so I get this massive product and I had they had to call to deliver

01:07:35 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 1:

it to me and everything how funny is that you were the dress drunk you were probably having What were you drinking? What kind of beverage?

01:07:44 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 6:

I was drinking, this is embarrassing, but Malibu and Pineapples.

01:07:48 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love Malibu and Pineapples. That sounds good. That sounds good. That sounds like summer, doesn't it?

01:07:52 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 6:

That sounds embarrassing.

01:07:53 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Ryan, what was your drunk purchase?

01:07:56 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 3:

I bought 200-yard flamingos with the spinning wings.

01:08:02 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 2:

Why 200? Was there a deal on a group package?

01:08:07 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 3:

No, I meant to buy 20, and I was so drunk at the time. But I end up typing in an extra zero. My girlfriend woke up and she's like, why is there a, you know, this massive charge from Oriental Trading?

01:08:24 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

I'll tell you what. That Oriental Trading, the website and the little mailer, the catalog they send you, it's like you want everything in there. And it's the most mindless, stupid stuff.

01:08:35 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 6:

What did you do with all 200 of them, by the way? Like, where are they now?

01:08:38 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we got drunk again, and then we decided to go throw them in a buddy's yard.

01:08:44 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know what I would do with 20 of them.

01:08:46 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say, I'll buy some of them from you. My dad loves yard flamingos.

01:08:50 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

God, I love Ryan. What's up? Andrea?

01:08:54 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I think the Australian pond took the cake, but I bought about $500 in Funko Pops. Oh, my gosh.

01:09:02 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

Mike loves those, yeah. Which ones did you buy?

01:09:05 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 4:

A lot of the Marvel ones, my son and my husband.

01:09:11 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man, that's expensive.

01:09:12 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 4:

I was shopping on Funko Pop, and I started putting pop in my cart, and then I hit send.

01:09:18 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Gosh, Shannon, you're going to love this one here. Jennifer? Hi. Hey, welcome to the show, Jennifer. Where are you from?

01:09:27 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm from Huron Township.

01:09:30 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for listening to Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about drunk purchases. You bought a live animal. Will you tell everybody what you bought when you were drunk?

01:09:38 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I actually bought two live animals because I couldn't decide which breed I wanted. So I got a Nigerian pygmy goat.

01:09:46 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:09:50 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And so you got a goat. How do you buy a goat online? How does that happen?

01:09:56 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was drunk. I don't really remember.

01:10:00 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 7:

still have them i don't so as the joke proceeded like the next morning i went and picked them up um and then when i got home i didn't have a goat pin because i don't live on a farm right we had to build a goat pin and then uh the joke kind of got out of hand and we ended up with about nine before we oh my gosh i love you so much do you butcher them or do you resell is there a black market for goats like i don't i really don't even remember how quite how we came across the ad but

01:10:30 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 3:

it was pretty funny the next uh the next morning oh my god that's awesome um this next one here you may want to pull your kids away from the radio for just a second because i just looked up at the board um but that's okay or just throw them in the back seat with some headphones on jasmine we're talking about drunk purchases what did you buy when you were drunk okay so me and a couple of

01:10:52 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 6:

my homegirls were having like a girls night and we have like one of our closest friends are getting married um we've seen an ad on the internet for like rainbow toys different shots shake different sizes right you know so the drunk thing is you know we were like oh let's box it up and send it to her home and say surprise open up you know oh good last days of the single life i made a mistake I just sent it to my mom. That is amazing. And my mom loves surprises, so she opened it up a few days. Surprise. That's awesome. I didn't even answer her call for two days.

01:11:37 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 3:

And the biggest drunk purchase made, Josh, what did you purchase when you were drunk?

01:11:44 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 4:

I was a rookie playing pro baseball. We went to Paradise Casino in Palm Springs. and drunk and my buddies and i um i don't even remember how i did it i bought a dodge viper oh my gosh you bought a drunk a car drunk how do you do that yeah well we well in california this in 2008 you can actually call a dealership and make a purchase with your credit card and i had i and i bought it and luckily the guy that i was playing with he played for the oakland He was a veteran. He actually gave me the money to my bank account, $5,700, in the hole.

01:12:20 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God.

01:12:22 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 4:

I paid him back for the next month with my baseball check.

01:12:26 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Did you enjoy that? Did you love Rotten?

01:12:30 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I loved it. But, yeah, it was a big mistake.

01:12:35 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is Mojo in the morning show. Mojo gives you a baby picking couple number two tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock. So be listening tomorrow morning. Yesterday, we ended up giving away our very first IVF treatment, and you couldn't ask for a cuter couple that ended up winning that. And thanks to everybody that entered, and congratulations again to Joshua and Lauren from Auburn Hills. And also thanks to IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center. The Ohio Fertility Center. We got it. Yeah. Now I actually do sound like a Midwesterner when I say it. Ohio. All right. Time now for a senseless survey. Let's see how many questions Spike can get out.

01:13:20 - 01:13:34 | Speaker 1:

You guys, you guys, you guys, great news. It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s**t. This country is going to s**t. You got it on Mojo. It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

01:13:38 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 2:

This is Mark. Hey, Mark. How are you this morning? Pretty good. Good. It's Mr. Bob Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Survey. I've just got 30 seconds of your time here if we're going to ask you a couple quick questions. As a citizen, would you be willing to let us use federal tax money to find a way to make sponges more absorbent? No. Which side are you rooting for in the war on drugs? Which sides are there? It's basically an open-ended question. I can't really feed you an answer for the survey.

01:14:08 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 5:

The abstainers. And how often

01:14:11 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 2:

do you play with your we?

01:14:13 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 5:

I don't have one.

01:14:15 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 2:

If there were a breakfast war, do you think the French toast would surrender to the English muffin?

01:14:19 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:14:20 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Instead of road salt in wintertime, should we use road pepper? Since it's already black, it'll blend in nicer?

01:14:27 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 5:

Something like that, yeah.

01:14:28 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 2:

How much longer do you think Dippin' Dots will be the ice cream of the future?

01:14:34 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, probably my lifetime at least.

01:14:38 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 2:

And on a scale of 1 to 10, how cuddly are you?

01:14:40 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 5:

You have to ask my wife that one.

01:14:41 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Are you looking forward to practicing some voodoo this summer? Nope. Who do you think would win in a fight between munchkins and leprechauns? Leprechauns. Would you like to see hard liquor come in juice box form? No. What's your nickname around town? I don't have one. Should we come up with one? No. Because I could help you.

01:15:00 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 4:

pretty good at them. Bill, we about ready to wrap this up. I got to keep going. Oh, yeah. I just have two questions left. What's the last thing you shot with a crossbow? Too many things to remember. All right. And how long are your dreadlocks? I think we're over on our questions.

01:15:19 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

All right. That's one of those guys where I would probably suggest we don't call him back. Very, very tough man there. It's a senseless survey here on Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:30 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 1:

01:15:38 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Show. So, have you ever been friends with someone, co-workers, or worse, family, and your family either A, cannot spell your name or B, doesn't know how to pronounce it. Or maybe he doesn't even know your name. That happened. Megan, what happened to you?

01:16:07 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 7:

Well, I just noticed that apparently JP, who works on our show, couldn't really be bothered at this point to show me common courtesy, decency. Well, nobody around here respects me, so I don't really expect her to respect me. But she just, JP has a problem with spelling my name correctly and I don't know what it is.

01:16:30 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 5:

JP, JP. JP.

01:16:33 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 6:

Is that my evil twin?

01:16:35 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 7:

No. It's the non-spellcheck version of you. What happened?

01:16:40 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 5:

What happened?

01:16:42 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 7:

I was sitting on social media yesterday. And by the way, we get tagged at everything on socials, right? So I get the notification that pops up on my phone, like hey mojo in the morning has tagged you on a reel and i was like oh you know what i am going to hop on check it out see if i like it maybe i'll share it uh but i was watching it and at from the beginning it was a top i kp what was it about it was about you and me oh who was the drunkest

01:17:11 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 6:

over the weekend and i was not jp i'm if you're talking to me that's that's not that's jp oh jp

01:17:17 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 7:

JP, sorry, JP, who is it? See, I have respect, unlike you. So I'm watching it, and actually what I love is that you put captions on it, which I think is awesome. I do love that. I love, love, love it. And it's because, you know, when I'm sitting on my phone here during the show, I don't have the sound on, but I still know what's going on. I was able to watch it. And it goes really quickly, but I see a name flash across the screen. I go, who's that? Don't recognize that name because I know it's not me because my name is spelled incorrectly the entire video in the captions

01:17:53 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 5:

It's it's what when we first started working together. That was the thing. I remember we did we had to do a It's M-E-A-G-H-A-N

01:18:03 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 7:

Because my father hates me

01:18:05 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 4:

I think we've all been in trouble over the years for misspelling Megan's name But it was when we when she first started working for us

01:18:13 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, and to be fair, I really, I don't like to complain about much. I do feel like learning people's names is the basics. And then JP over here was like, no.

01:18:25 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 5:

When you do the graphics, what does it do? Does it automatically do it? No, no, no, no.

01:18:30 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 7:

Don't give her that out because the automatics would be M-E-G-A-N, right? That's the automatic wagon. That's not how it's spelled either.

01:18:39 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 5:

How is it spelled?

01:18:40 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 7:

It's M-E-A-G-A-N

01:18:44 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 6:

So she forgot the age

01:18:46 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 5:

How does that work by the way

01:18:47 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 6:

So the program automatically Spells Megan's name M-E-A-G-A-N And that particular video was 22 minutes long When I took it and I cut it down It took me 20 minutes to cut down a 22 video Into a 4 minutes and post it quickly So we can get credit So I edited Dr. Rahman's name Because his name is Dr. Shama And I didn't want to to lose a client so unfortunately megan editing your name was not a large collection of videos

01:19:15 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 4:

so you're admitting you were already in their editing names you just didn't want to edit her

01:19:20 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 6:

i was only searching for dr shama's name didn't even see that megan's name was spelled wrong

01:19:25 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 5:

do me a favor call me moho i love that that's my favorite hold on tara what's up it's mojo in the

01:19:31 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 2:

morning yeah so my my my put my maternal uncle so my blood and you know life and he is my godfather cannot spell my name for the life of him it is t-a-r-a and it's been a running joke in my family like my entire life what is the car gonna say this year because he has spelled it every way

01:19:53 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

possible in the world and he's your godfather too that's amazing megan what's up up.

01:20:00 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 8:

Well, I have the same problem as Megan, because my name is spelled M-A-E-G-E-N.

01:20:07 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

01:20:08 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 8:

So your parents hate you, too. M-A-E. I don't think I've ever seen that one. And it's actually pronounced Megan. Megan. Megan. Yeah. Okay, that makes sense. So it's like it's pronounced exactly how it's spelled, Megan, and people just, like the previous caller, nobody spells my name right.

01:20:26 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 1:

You can't go up to, you know, on a vacation in northern Michigan and find a license plate with your name on it.

01:20:34 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 8:

No, no. Nothing does.

01:20:38 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 2:

Allie's aunt just did a couple days ago was her birthday. She commented on her Facebook wall, on her Facebook, where it says her name, and spelled it wrong.

01:20:48 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, when it's right there on the page. It's right in front of her.

01:20:51 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes, though, I will say this, that autocorrect will screw up my thing. from time to time that I don't catch it, so I don't know.

01:20:58 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 4:

On Facebook, though, like you're looking at it, it says, would you like to comment to Allie? Yeah.

01:21:03 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 1:

Erica, speaking of aunts, what did your aunt do?

01:21:07 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 7:

So my aunt from New York still spells my name E-R-I-C-A when it's with a K.

01:21:14 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:21:15 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 7:

And so I have another Erica in the family now, a sister-in-law, so I just go by KK.

01:21:20 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 1:

KK, what's up? How you doing, Sarah?

01:21:24 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 9:

Hey, good morning. So my grandma, she calls me the wrong name every time, and I made her a grandma, and I'm going to be turning 23, and she literally goes down the line of every single name in my family. I do that, too. Before she gets to me, and I, like, my boyfriend sits there, and he's like, does she do this, like, every time? And I'm like, yeah, just get used to it. I made her a grandma

01:21:55 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing I can't call my kids the right name It's Joey Jacob Luke

01:21:59 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes I get to the dog's name

01:22:02 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 9:

She runs out every single name In that family I've never really seen her Actually intentionally say my name I have the easiest name Out of everybody

01:22:15 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 5:

Sarah I have four brothers And they all start with the letter A We've got Adam, Aaron, Aiden and Alex. So my mom has to go through. The doggers. Right.

01:22:28 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 3:

The doggers. No. Without the crimes.

01:22:46 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 1:

01:24:36 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, it was just like an act of kindness that kind of made my day watching it happen. I went through the car wash yesterday. And you know how if you pull through Jack's car wash in the Detroit area, they have like a bunch of different locations. But if you pull through, you get to the very end and they do like two guys come out and dry off your car with some towels. And so there were like two different lanes of that.

01:25:00 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 4:

happening and as I pulled out and I was done and getting ready to pull out into the road I looked over at the guy who was next to me the customer who was next to me and instead of rolling down his window and giving the guys like a buck or two you know whatever like a little tip he had a big huge box of donuts and he handed it through his window to the guy who was drying his car and his face just absolutely lit up it was one of those little things that you could tell made this guy so excited and he showed all of the other guys who were working at the car wash and they all got really excited and I thought that's so nice. Like it was just a small act of kindness but those guys were so excited. Did he do

01:25:41 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

what they're supposed to do with their tips where they put it in the box?

01:25:46 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 4:

No, he just held it up for all the guys to see and they were so happy. I always look at that That was really nice.

01:25:54 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 2:

We need more of that. I always look at that when they put it in there. I'm like, I want you to have it. I know, I know. Wait, so how did you feel that you didn't give a tip at all in this guy gave donuts?

01:26:06 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, I always give a tip.

01:26:07 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 2:

I know, I'm joking. I always do give a tip. How much do you tip, by the way, on the drive?

01:26:10 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 4:

To be very honest with you, it just depends on what I have. Sometimes I only have a dollar. Sometimes I have two dollars. Sometimes I only have ten dollars. So in my head, I'm like, all right, for the next couple of times, I don't have to tip. Because it all goes into like one big pot.

01:26:21 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

But they don't know that, though, when they're going through it.

01:26:23 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 4:

They don't know that.

01:26:24 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 2:

They don't know that when you're not tipping.

01:26:26 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 4:

I can't give that much money every single time.

01:26:28 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 2:

I literally went to the ATM, and then I went to the bank, and I talked about this the other day, and I went and I put a thing of singles in my car just because what was happening was I would drive through, and I would have only $10 or whatever or $20, and I'm like, oh, man. And I was thinking to myself, I'm like, I'm not giving you a 20. I'm giving you more money on a tip than I actually gave you on the actual car wash.

01:26:52 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 3:

So I always give them a five for drying, because there's always two guys drying. But then the one time I didn't have any money, I, like, did a quick pull around. Like, I went around them, like, oh, wave, like, I don't have time to dry. And that's when I went to the lot next door to dry my own car and gave myself the concussion. So I realized at this point, I've got to give them a 20 if that's all I have. That's smart.

01:27:14 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 2:

All right, tell me Tuesday right now. Tell us something good this morning. What's going on? What's up, Sarah?

01:27:21 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. Tell us I'm good. Yeah, I hear you're talking about dating today. So I run a speed dating business, the Perky Wallflower, and we have our first marriage.

01:27:32 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's cool.

01:27:33 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm so excited about it. I love the name of your business, by the way.

01:27:38 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. You know, my 12-year-old daughter came up with it because she was saying it's for the people that are perky and outgoing and for those wallflowers that have a little harder time dating. Oh, my gosh, that's perfect. Trying to help everybody.

01:27:49 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 2:

What's the age range of the people that are your clients?

01:27:52 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 6:

So we run different events every week, and each week is a different age range. So we work with 20-year-olds to 70-year-olds.

01:28:00 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. You've got to invite the single people from the Mojo in the Morning Show to come out sometime, okay?

01:28:05 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, please. Come on. They're such fun events. And like I said, my daughter helps run them. It's her college fund, and we have a great time. And we're so excited when people match and meet up. Cool.

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

And what are you guys on social and online? What is your perky wallflower?

01:28:22 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 6:

The Perky Wallflower, yep. All right.

01:28:24 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 2:

01:34:32 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, how you doing? Good morning, guys Good morning

01:34:34 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

We just talked to Olga Who is in love For the first time In a long time And tell us You're something good Because this is actually So awesome

01:34:43 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 8:

Okay, so I found the love That I didn't really know Was a love 25 years ago We got divorced Because we were young and we started talking to each other again three years ago and we're going to get married.

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 4:

on our 25th anniversary this year. Oh, my God. Wow. Oh, my gosh.

01:35:05 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 5:

So you guys got divorced, were split up, and then what brought you two back to each other?

01:35:13 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, unfortunately, I lost the mother of my son, and she lost her husband the same year. Wow. And we have always been friends and talked, and then things just went, like, awesome. Like, she is a woman that I have never thought would ever be in my life, and she is the most amazing woman. Her name is Linda, and I love her with all my heart.

01:35:38 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:35:39 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 3:

That's a beautiful story. Sad story, but beautiful ending to that story.

01:35:41 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 5:

And what a really cool thing to put out there into the world for anybody else that maybe has had a relationship that, you know, went astray that you potentially will find love again, but also that love could be that person that you guys, you know, that you had to divorce with. How much did the divorce cost you, and will she repay you for that?

01:36:06 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

No, we were young back then, and I think it was like an annulment. So other than that, yeah, but everything is good. How awesome is that?

01:36:13 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 5:

Mojo on the Morning Show. This is trending this morning. The fact that anybody that has seen that chat GPI, that AI site that's out there, chat GPT.

01:36:29 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 3:

Chat GPT, it's scary, crazy.

01:36:32 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 5:

So this is trending this morning when it comes to chat GPT. men are using AI dating apps and bots to actually try to get women to go on dates with them. So they are basically going and using the chat GPTs or Cupid bots and they're matching and messaging women online for dates without their knowledge or consent, But they're also having the bots or the, you know, the computer basically be them romanticizing the women.

01:37:11 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 4:

You know, just when I thought the bar couldn't get any lower.

01:37:14 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:37:14 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 4:

We got people talking for you, too.

01:37:16 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 5:

It's amazing. It's unbelievable.

01:37:17 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys used it yet, though? No. Yes. You have, Megan? Yeah. It works incredibly well. It's like, it actually freaks me out how well it works.

01:37:26 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 2:

I'm so upset that this wasn't around when I was in college because the fact that you can get it to write a paper. for you is crazy and then i worry what colleges are going to do because it's not plagiarized and then you can go in afterwards and add your own sources quotes and information afterwards wow

01:37:43 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

but it can write the majority of your paper for you in minutes in minutes and it's so just it's

01:37:49 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 1:

spot on and factually correct this is going to kill any sort of creativity or thought for yourself

01:37:56 - 01:38:17 | Speaker 2:

yes and no i think we have to become adaptive they say things are going to kill things all the time it doesn't actually happen we just modify our behavior but what was interesting to me is i wrote a press release with it one time and it gave a fake quote and i was like that's crazy like it said somebody who worked here in my building had given a quote on the topic for

01:38:17 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 3:

this press release so you want to know it's so weird so wes did it just because he was playing around with it for work um he works in like the technology engineering world and so he just wanted He was, you know, doing something with it. I don't even, I don't even really know. Anyway, he, he put in my name and his name and maybe like two other details. And it also, it wrote a story about us, how we met, all about our kids. And then it also said that I had a baby. Oh, no. And I about died. Oh, no. We should write stories about each of us. We should have A.I. write Bojo's life story.

01:38:51 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 5:

Have you done anything with the audio version of this thing? because my son Joe on his show did the audio version of it and actually had it take his voice and had him do breaks and then left.

01:39:04 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 3:

Wait, I didn't know you could do that.

01:39:05 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 5:

We'll all be out of work. Well, our company actually brought this up. Our company talked about that. Our company said human beings are the thing that we are focusing on because it's real-life stories that people are telling and doing things. And so we had to actually come out and talk about that, but I, I will be honest with you. It's amazing how much though, that you can, you know, just say a few different words in there and it will pick up on you and it will even, uh, use the inflections that you would normally use. What's up, Greg, how you doing?

01:39:41 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys doing this morning?

01:39:43 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 5:

Good. So there, we're talking about how these bots now are doing some dating and you got to be aware you may be dating a bot. Who knows?

01:39:50 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

yeah even better though they have this image generator one where you can type in anywhere up to like 400 words and it'll create an image for you

01:40:00 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 2:

based on whatever you typed in and it can be some of the most outrageous stuff and it's just an ai program that that draws a picture for you so quite pretty you can be pretty lifelike or animated

01:40:09 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 4:

looking good the the guy who created this thing said he is very he is very scared about this because getting in the wrong hands it's a bad thing and in you know when you create something like this you do have to worry that it could get into the wrong hands and the wrong people might get it and or the use it for the wrong you know things the videos are saying how they can show

01:40:29 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 3:

people talking that weren't even there they've done it with like keanu reeves and tom cruise and president obama and like it's wild to see like george clooney or morgan freeman talking and

01:40:41 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 4:

saying a whole thing and it's all computer generated and that was the comment that i heard him say he said because he was asked this question he did an interview with abc last week and he was asked this question could people do this to make somebody else to slander another person yeah and

01:40:56 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 3:

he said absolutely and this is where it's come out crazy because they've already done it with with candidates saying things they didn't really say what's up sydney hi um i'm a college student

01:41:07 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 6:

and actually one of my friends got caught using ai on a paper through usually when you submit a paper um there's like a safe sign or something that will read your paper and kind of flag for plagiarism and it actually flagged her and said that she may be using like an external source

01:41:23 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if it knew that from the language or if it knew it based on how it was submitted electronically it was able to distinguish and determine that Do you know what I mean?

01:41:38 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's exactly what we were thinking I don't know if it's some weird software thing that we actually just don't understand but that was one thing that we were kind of freaked out about and we were like, oh God

01:41:49 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 7:

You're a photographer, so you can see certain things

01:41:53 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 3:

and images yeah the images have exif data that's you don't see it in the photo but there's data within the digital photo that tells who took it where they took it what kind of equipment they used and there's ways that you can get busted for that and i wonder if the ai generators also put data in there that computers can catch because for years teachers have been using programs to run your essays through and to see if you really wrote your final project kevin what's up

01:42:20 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 2:

How are you doing tonight, guys?

01:42:21 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

We're good, man. What's up?

01:42:23 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 2:

Again, real quick, the information you're talking about, the spot information, there was an actual episode on South Park that I saw last week that had just that on it. They were talking about the whole time. So the kids were going through homework that they were cheating on. I mean, and these love letters that were sending these girls were all being generated by this application.

01:42:44 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and they actually referenced that in this story, that the reference is the fact that they used that episode as an example of where it could happen. But I will say this to you. First, there were the dolls that were like the real dolls. Remember that? And people were like, all of a sudden, now you can actually have your real dolls talk to you.

01:43:10 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 3:

And learn what language you like. and what accent you want to hear.

01:43:16 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 4:

How sad is this world?

01:43:17 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what happened?

01:43:18 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 4:

How sad is this freaking world?

01:43:20 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 1:

Everybody's texting that chat. GPT is also, oh my God, I need it to speak for me today. It's awesome for cover letters and resumes.

01:43:29 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 5:

I just sent you guys a video of this application writing a bio on Mojo in the morning and it proves why we won't be replaced by this application. It's bad. It's so bad. Oh wait, look at Mojo's real name. Look at Spite's real name.

01:43:45 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's funny.

01:43:47 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 5:

All of it's wrong. Right, right. It said Spite's real name is Shannon Murphy.

01:43:51 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, because it goes through stuff online.

01:43:54 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 3:

But I'm sure it can be perfected, and the more info you put in, the more.

01:44:00 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 7:

It says Mojo is known for his quick wit, irrelevant sense of humor.

01:44:06 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 3:

That's true, though. That's true. No, irreverent sense of humor.

01:44:09 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, oh, oh.

01:44:11 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:44:12 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 5:

And that's why we work on radio.

01:44:13 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 4:

Hey. By the way, I'm just thinking about this. I don't want it to replace DJs, but if we don't get calls on a topic, can we have chat? That would be amazing. GPT to be our callers? Let's go to caller number three. Hold on a second here. Just be a robot? Yeah.

01:44:31 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I also don't want a computer telling me I'm wrong, too.

01:44:36 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

All right, now here's the topic I want to bring up, and I definitely want you to call us up and share with us things that should never be brought up on a first date. Guys reveal five topics that they never want to hear about on a first date. See if you agree with this or disagree or if you've ever brought this up. Here are the five. Number one, your ex-girlfriend or boyfriend.

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 2:

Don't bring that up. Number two, high-end brands you love. Do people bring that up on a first day? Do they sit there and talk about the stuff that they love?

01:45:12 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 1:

The first one you said seems obvious, even though we get second date update callers, that they say they constantly talked about their acts. This one, maybe it needs to be said. It sounds like you're humble bragging if you start talking about all the brands you own or you like.

01:45:24 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 4:

Or it sounds like you are gold digger.

01:45:27 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 2:

Number three, feminist topics. Guys don't like that.

01:45:31 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:45:33 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 2:

But what woman's bringing up a feminist topic, though?

01:45:36 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but what do men classify as feminist topics? Also, that's their red flag, not ours.

01:45:41 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 2:

Question number four, the have you ever game. Don't ever do that on a first date. And number five, your daily gripes or complaints. Don't just sit there and complain. And you know what? That has always been one where I've talked numerous times to different guests that we've had on our show, therapists and stuff, and even some of our, like you said, second date update people that we've talked to before. If you come to the topic and you're in a negative mood, who wants to date somebody negative unless the negativity is mutually agreed upon, right? Because he loves company. Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What was it that, and let's ask, you know, I want to know what women have to say about this. These are guys that are saying these are the things that they don't want to be brought up on a first date. What is it that you don't want to ever have brought up? Sports is probably a big one unless the person actually is a fan of sports and you notice that that's the case. There are some guys that go on a first date and the first thing that they're talking about is, you know, March Madness or, you know, the Lions and their new free agent signings and stuff like that. Maybe I do need chat GPT. um do you guys remember at all it you know at any times like uh kp and lydia and and megan recent dates that you guys have been on where somebody brought up something and you're like oh my god i can't believe that they're bringing this thing up is it bad that i kind

01:47:11 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 5:

of love it because if you're bringing up those topics either i'm gonna figure out pretty quickly if i want to see you again or i'm gonna learn a lot about like your personality and the kind of things that you find interesting so i kind of like these kind of like faux pas tapas yeah no i i kind

01:47:29 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 6:

of get that well well going back to the feminist thing i feel like a lot of my dates guys bring up um splitting the check in like uh like a i'm i'm all about equality and they make sure to bring that up on the first date i don't even say anything about it and already like when they say that it makes me feel kind of weird because it's like i didn't really mention the check or anything oh so like before the tech even yeah and it's just like that's how you're gonna split it or how you're gonna do it that's kind of weird and the same thing goes for like guys who um talk about how long it takes them to get to the actual date like bro you asked me why why are you upset about where the location is i had a guy who was who didn't want to drive 20 minutes to the place oh really like you're like picking like weeding yourself out yeah oh my god some of the

01:48:20 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 2:

texts are so we're trying to get them on because i want to hear these people say that uh tiffany hi it's mojo in the morning uh what's up what's something that shouldn't be brought up on a first

01:48:29 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 4:

date um i had a first date and he brought a collection of his favorite rocks and his family photos oh he brought that stuff on a first date yeah like he had a backpack full And he was like, I just brought this to show you. And I was like, oh, please don't.

01:48:47 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. He did not have the confidence in his conversation, I guess. I actually think that the rock collection is great.

01:48:53 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 4:

I would not be to see somebody's help. How did he bring it? Like, was it in a bag? Was it in a box? It was in a backpack just filled at the bottom of his backpack with rocks. I kind of love him. I don't even know. He's so bad. I mean, he's a five-year-old, yes, but for a grown man. Be honest.

01:49:11 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 5:

Did he have any cool rocks?

01:49:14 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, hi.

01:49:16 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:49:17 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What did they bring up on the first date?

01:49:21 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 3:

Dog breeding.

01:49:22 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Dog breeding.

01:49:23 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, was that what he or she was into, or why?

01:49:26 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 3:

So, I guess his dog is, like, a really great male dog. And so, I learned all about, like, a stud and the great type of dog that you want your dog to mate with and all types of things. And I just sat there and nodded. So weird.

01:49:43 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 1:

like that uh did you try see like i wonder if anyone ever tries to change the topic of conversation because some people just aren't good at silence or or talking so when they get on something they

01:49:54 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

know they have word vomit uh kira hi what was uh brought up on your first date

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Complaining about the pricing Of the food on the menu

01:50:04 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's a total red flag right there That's a bad one Where did you guys go?

01:50:11 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 3:

We went to What was it, Views? Like a bar and grill And they complained about You know, they had an entry fee To get in there And they picked a place? Who picked the place? He did Yeah, so then he's complaining, but he picked it It's like you didn't, like, Google the menu and look before, or I don't know. He just kept saying, like, oh, wow.

01:50:39 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:50:40 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 4:

Erin, hi. What was brought up on the first date that was a total turnoff?

01:50:46 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. He was like, yeah, so every girl has red flags. What's yours?

01:50:51 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, you just came around with it.

01:50:52 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 1:

I kind of like it. I mean, honestly, I was like, yeah.

01:50:56 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Did you answer? Did you have an answer to that?

01:51:01 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 5:

I was just unfounded.

01:51:03 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Sorry, you're going to have to find out. Kyla?

01:51:08 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:51:09 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi, what was brought up on your first date?

01:51:12 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 5:

I never really had great first dates. They all ended up being whether we were going to have sex or not. And if we didn't, they'd drop me off at home and never talk to me again. Oh, my God.

01:51:21 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. So you're telling me that pretty much every guy that you've ever gone out with has always just asked you if you're going to have sex. And if you say, no, we're not going to do that, do they all of a sudden just end the date?

01:51:35 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they end the date. And then, like, maybe a couple months later, they'll be like, hey, want to hook up? I'm like, no.

01:51:41 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Wow. You know what? Maybe we do need the chat GPTs for these guys. You know who would never do that? Rock guy.

01:51:51 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 2:

Facebook. Facebook! Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning.

01:51:59 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:52:02 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, what's trending this hour in the Dirty on the 30?

01:52:04 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, everybody's still talking about Taylor Swift shows in Glendale, Arizona over the weekend, kicking off her Eras tour. I didn't know this. Two Taylor Swift fans actually got married during one of those shows over the weekend. And so here's how they did it. Their original plan was to get married the day of the show and then have the reception during the concert, okay, like with a bunch of their friends and family. However, they were like, wouldn't it be so much cooler to have Taylor Swift, quote-unquote, play our wedding instead? So they used a break in Taylor's set to exchange their vows, and then they shared a kiss, which led to applause from all of the Swifties and their friends and family around them, and that was their wedding. And she acknowledged it? I don't know if she acknowledged it. Okay. I don't think that they were sitting anywhere close that she could. That's cool, though. That was their plan. Well, it wasn't their plan, but they switched it to be their plan.

01:52:56 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if they had a song, too, if it was like during one of her songs. She does so many songs.

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 1:

44 songs. It's amazing. Yeah.

01:53:04 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 4:

And we have another chance for you to win tickets, 930 before Shannon's next Dirty. But also, risky move to do it at her first concerts.

01:53:12 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 1:

If you do have a song, you don't know if she's going to be playing it. Yeah, that's true. Chris Rock calling Democrat politicians stupid for wanting to arrest former President Donald Trump, saying it's only going to make him more popular. This is from his appearance at the Kennedy Center to honor Adam Sandler with that Mark Twain prize.

01:53:42 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 5:

Obviously, they had no phone rule, huh?

01:53:50 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 1:

No, yeah, he also joked about allegations that the former president paid that adult film star Stormy Daniels' hush money, saying, oh, that's romantic, we've all been cheated on. Don't you wish that the person that cheated on you paid somebody off so you wouldn't find out? And while we're talking Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis breaking his silence yesterday on the former president's legal troubles, criticizing that Manhattan district attorney who is pursuing charges against Trump and vowing his office not going to be involved if the matter trickles into Trump's adopted home state of Florida.

01:54:20 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 2:

Look, I don't know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair. I just, I can't speak to that. The Manhattan district attorney is a Soros-funded prosecutor. And so he, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponized their office to impose a political agenda on society.

01:54:44 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if it will happen today.

01:54:45 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, the grand jury is in the very final stages of, again, determining whether Trump should face charges over that alleged payout to Stormy Daniels related to a supposed affair. We heard that that could be.

01:55:00 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 4:

today. They were putting barriers and all kinds of stuff up in not only New York City, but also some other major cities worried about what could potentially happen. But I wonder if you know you're going to get arrested, do you prepare for your mug shot?

01:55:14 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

Because... Like, do you go get your eyelashes done and, like, a facial and stuff like that? Yeah.

01:55:19 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 4:

Like, do you, you know, will he or will he not, you know, smile in the picture? I don't know. Get a fresh tan. His hair done. I don't know. Yeah. A fresh tan.

01:55:28 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 1:

I said a fresh tan. Yeah, I know.

01:55:30 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 4:

Shazam, I like that.

01:55:31 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 1:

Over at the White House, the cast of Ted Lasso was hanging out yesterday. Remember, I told you this was going to happen. They were going to be discussing with the president and the first lady the importance of mental health. So they're sitting in the press room, and White House press secretary Kareem Jean-Pierre was getting screamed at by a Today News Africa correspondent while the cast was sitting there very patiently waiting to do their part and to get up and speak.

01:55:59 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm saying that that's not right. That's not right. One time's welcome, guys. Welcome. Welcome to the press briefing room. Okay.

01:56:07 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 4:

This is not right.

01:56:08 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 3:

Sir, let it go. Are you ready? Are we going to behave?

01:56:12 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 1:

I mean, this went on for a long time, and finally she was like, enough is enough.

01:56:17 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 3:

What I will not appreciate is disrespecting your colleagues and disrespecting guests who are here to talk, who were here, to talk about an incredibly important issue, which is mental health. And what has just occurred this last 10, 15 minutes is unacceptable. It is unacceptable. So we're either going to continue the briefing.

01:56:40 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 4:

They needed to have Ted Lasso do a Ted Lasso thing. Like, come on, guys. He has some kind of like a goofy saying.

01:56:47 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm a goldfish. I didn't even see anything from the cast speaking. I just kept seeing it going around and around.

01:56:54 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 4:

So they had the reporter from the show, the actual guy that always asks him questions in their press conferences, he was the only question that got asked to Jason Sudeikis during the whole thing, which was actually kind of cute that that happened.

01:57:10 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, country music fans, Luke Combs, making a big announcement yesterday. He and his wife, Nicole Hawking, are expecting baby number two. posted a cute video of them and their little guy Tex wearing a Big Brother t-shirt and the caption said joining the two under two club baby boy number two coming this September. So congratulations to them. For all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:58:06 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 5:

Shout out where you live.

01:58:29 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 5:

Feeling high, baby.

01:58:30 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 4:

Love the East Side. Thank you, guys.

01:58:32 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 5:

In the next 15 minutes, you'll hear about this on Mojo in the Morning.

01:58:35 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 4:

All right, when we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning show, KP's going to tell us her sneaky way that she gets what she wants. Our producer, KP, will be in with that. And Mike with the hot, awkward person. Plus, am I the a-hole? Coming up in moments. Don't go anywhere, but if you do, come back and listen to our podcast. Don't miss a second of the Mojo in the Morning show. I've got to tinkle.

01:59:02 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. iHeartRadio! Producer KP loves country boys like a farmer loves his John Deere. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:59:18 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 4:

so uh kp our producer with the way that you get what you want it's now wait wait is this with the country boys that you like to hang out with or is this no no it's with who is it with me

01:59:34 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

now you get what you want with me this might work okay all right yesterday i drove home to go see my mom and she was hanging out with my seven-year-old brother alex and i was just having such a bad day yesterday and i i crave a diet coke whenever i get upset so if you want to make me feel better just get me a diet coke from mcdonald's and i'll be fine it may be an issue but we'll uh that's another problem

02:00:00 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's Cokes are the greatest Cokes ever. They really are. Yeah.

02:00:02 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 2:

The first sip. I can't even describe the first sip of a McDonald's.

02:00:05 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 1:

It makes everything right.

02:00:06 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 2:

It's magical. But I went home, saw my mom, and I didn't think that she was going to stop on the way home. So on my way from picking up my brother, Alex, I said to him, hey, I think we're going to go to McDonald's for dinner. And how old is Alex again? Seven. Seven. That's right. That's right. And he immediately goes, McDonald's! Yes! Best day ever! My mom can say no to me, but she can't say no to him. And I may need to go to confession now.

02:00:41 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 1:

He's the baby of the family.

02:00:42 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

That's smart. That's strategy.

02:00:45 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 1:

Where were you picking him up from?

02:00:46 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

We were actually picking him up from catechism.

02:00:48 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Okay. Yeah. And so you guys went to McDonald's?

02:00:53 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

Did you just say McDonald's? I did. I'm going to.

02:00:57 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 1:

It's acceptable.

02:00:58 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 2:

Was it good? We did not go to McDonald's, but we did go to McDonald's. And I got a Diet Coke, ended up getting a medium fry, and a McChicken. And let me tell you, why does food taste so much better when your mom buys it? Like, if I were to pull up to a McDonald's and order a Big Mac or something, it would not taste as good as if my mom were to buy it with her credit card.

02:01:16 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 1:

That is so true. You know what else it is, I think? That is so true. You feel guilty if you buy it.

02:01:20 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes! You feel guilty. You're like, oh, this is a little treat. But it still feels like a treat if mom buys it. Yeah. It's an occasion when I go with my mom I love that you say snacky snack

02:01:28 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 1:

There is something great about that And honestly there is also something great about McDonald's When you go And you're not going because of Any other reason than you're just trying to make yourself feel good And you just drive through the drive-thru And get a Coke And a large fry and that's it And you walk out Because you feel like you have committed less of a You know a weight sin by just having the fries and the Coke.

02:01:55 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes I feel a little shamed, though. I'm not going to lie. I love my McDonald's. You know this. But I love the Happy Meal. I like either a cheeseburger Happy Meal or the Four Nuggets Happy Meal. And when I say I don't need a toy, and they're like, ma'am, girl or boy toy, I'm like, I really just don't want a toy.

02:02:11 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 3:

But I don't want to say, it's for me.

02:02:13 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

My mom is so upset because after, she wasn't upset. She wanted to. She knew she wanted to spend some quality time with her 24-year-old daughter. But afterwards, Alex opened up his Happy Meal and started putting together this origami microphone toy thing. And it was bedtime, and my mom was pissed. She's like, I'm not helping you. I'm not doing origami at 9 p.m. We're not even supposed to be eating McDonald's right now.

02:02:38 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 1:

What was going on yesterday that was such a bad day for you?

02:02:41 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 2:

I came home, and I feel like a lot of people can relate to this. That horrible beeping sound when your smoke detector is out, It was actually my carbon monoxide detector And I thought I had an issue Because it wasn't reading It was reading in the laundry room that there was something going on And then I'd put it in another part of the house And it wasn't beeping So I'm like, okay, maybe I should leave And I called my dad and he ended up going over there And he was like, yeah, the batteries are dead Of course the batteries are dead But I immediately, you know what, I just left Hope the problem dissipated, went to my mom's Got McDonald's and came back That's basically how everything works

02:03:17 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 1:

When you have a bad day like that emotional eating is always the good thing like it's honestly the thing that you you know just got to go and and and do and pulling through the drive-through is like the great you because you're so emotionally you know upset about whatever the heck is going on but then as soon as you say goodbye to them and they hand you that bag and stuff like that and you put your hand over while you're driving and grab that first fry all pain goes away at that time the worst part is though

02:03:43 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 2:

when you get home it's all gone because i can't wait i gotta pull over and that beeping sound is

02:03:48 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 4:

still going off and your car smells like mcdonald's question for you guys i'm gonna throw this around

02:03:53 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 1:

the room real quick and then we're gonna do am i the a-hole question what is your emotional eating destination because mine has changed in the last like few months or so like mine has become chick-fil-a more so than mcdonald's it used to be mcdonald's i'd go through a mcdonald's and i'd get a double quarter pounder with cheese, no bun because I got the gluten allergy, large fry, and a large Coke. But now I go through a Chick-A-Follet and I get myself just a shake.

02:04:28 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 4:

What's your shake of choice?

02:04:29 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, they just took away the, finally, which is amazing. The peppermint Christmas one was my favorite. But honestly, I like just a pure vanilla shake. It's the best vanilla ice cream ever.

02:04:42 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

My old McDonald's go-to was the vanilla cone, because I used to do princess parties, and I would have such stressful weekends, my wig and everything. Will you explain the princess parties? Yeah, you need to explain that. It sounds like something kinky. No, it's not kinky. I mean, it could be, but I used to dress up as different Disney characters and go to birthday parties. I did that for f***ing.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 1:

five years during the summer because you were part of that.

02:05:02 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 4:

What was that? We used to talk to those people all the time.

02:05:04 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's a local or fairy tale.

02:05:07 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 4:

Remember they used to do our parties and stuff. I think KP, you did a party of ours.

02:05:12 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 1:

I didn't do them with you guys. I remember that. Yeah. Oh, really?

02:05:15 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 6:

Well, I can understand being stressed after toddlers.

02:05:17 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I would get the worst headache with the Wonder Woman wig. And I remember I would rip that thing off of me as soon as I was done. And mind you, we're doing like cartwheels in 90 degree heat because everyone wants to do their princess parties outside like oh and we don't even have shade anyway uh and of course i had to eat the birthday cake so that was an awful summer you earned that vanilla cone yeah but i would go to mcdonald's afterwards and get a vanilla cone and be literally in a wig cap bald in the drive-thru eating a sundae and spraying no child saw me that's so good did they

02:05:51 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 4:

did they wonder like they didn't you don't look like a princess when you're doing that what's going on, Sam?

02:05:57 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Mojo. I feel really called out right now because I didn't want to go to work this morning, so I got myself some McDonald's on the way, and I have a pancake breakfast sitting right here.

02:06:08 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 4:

The hot cakes and sausage.

02:06:11 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 7:

I was rewarding myself for going to work.

02:06:13 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 4:

How is it that their pancakes are better than any restaurant's pancakes? They're so good. Whatever that mix is.

02:06:19 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 7:

The burger is the best.

02:06:21 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 4:

And you know what it is? I think it's eaten out of that Styrofoam thing.

02:06:24 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Is it still the styrofoam thing that they give you?

02:06:26 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

I think so. Is it really?

02:06:27 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 6:

You figured the environment, they would have changed that by now. And plus, not just the environment, but when you cut the pancakes, you also cut right through the styrofoam.

02:06:33 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, McDonald's. Screw the... We're emotionally going through trouble right now as a human being.

02:06:38 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 3:

I need the styrofoam. No, I have McDonald's set to a higher standard. Oh, good Lord.

02:06:45 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 4:

My gosh. Guess what? That one styrofoam is not going to hurt anybody, and it's going to make me feel better.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 3:

It's only one, right, in the whole world.

02:06:51 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 4:

Abe?

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys.

02:06:54 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:06:56 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, I feel like we're all familiar with the forehead sweats. Do you eat too much?

02:07:02 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. I've had forehead sweats a lot.

02:07:05 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 2:

So I'm Arabic. My wife is American, and she learned how to make the Arabic rice with ground beef in it and the patouche salad.

02:07:15 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:07:15 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if you've ever mixed those two together and just ate the rice and salad as one.

02:07:22 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:07:22 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 2:

When she learned how to make that That was a whole new experience That was it

02:07:28 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Your emotional eating is going to be hard for me Can I go to your house and ask your wife To make that for me if I'm having an emotional eating day That sounds delicious Emotional eating is quick, easy

02:07:39 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 1:

Let me go home

02:07:41 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Come on What's going on, Tiffany

02:07:45 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I love Candado The best There's just something about a taco and some chip and dip action that just makes you feel so much better. And a margarita. Absolutely.

02:08:00 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 3:

I am so. Yes, I know. I am the happiest person in the whole world after my first sip of a mimosa or a margarita. Yep.

02:08:09 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 4:

I like these ones. Culver's or Dairy Queen. That's mine.

02:08:13 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 6:

Mine's always dessert shakes.

02:08:14 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 4:

Was yesterday Conde? Yes. It was? Another one here. Panda Express. Oh, I love Panda Express.

02:08:22 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys been in a Panda Express lately? They upped their game.

02:08:26 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 4:

Did they? Yes. The best, and I can't have them, but the crab rangoons look like you want to just eat 29 of them. I'm with Spike. I got to do sweets, like ice cream or McFlurry or something.

02:08:38 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 6:

Because you're boarding yourself with something you wouldn't normally get.

02:08:41 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 4:

Insomnia cookies are a good one.

02:08:42 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 3:

I still never had those, Megan. Insomnia cookies are so good.

02:08:46 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 4:

How about a Slurpee from 7-Eleven? Does that ever do it for you? It depends.

02:08:52 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 3:

It depends because if my mouth is blue then for the next two hours, then I get mad.

02:08:59 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 4:

You know what? Actually, can I tell you what is a great milkshake? God, I'm brain farting now. All of a sudden, I had it and it was gone. No, what's the-

02:09:09 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 6:

The Arby's Jamocha Shake.

02:09:10 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 4:

No, what's the sandwich place that's the-

02:09:13 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 1:

Steak and Jake.

02:09:14 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 4:

No, sandwiches. Sandwiches like, God, I just screwed up.

02:09:19 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 5:

Tubby's?

02:09:20 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

No. Jersey's? I can't believe. This is going to bother me. I can't believe I just did.

02:09:24 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 5:

Subway. Lefty's?

02:09:25 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 4:

No, it's on Orchard Lake Road and Northwestern Highway-ish area right there. The hell is that place called? They serve the milkshake with a little cookie around the straw.

02:09:39 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what are you talking about?

02:09:41 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Yes. You know what I'm talking about. Potbelly. Potbelly. Potbelly. Potbelly. Yes.

02:09:45 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

02:09:46 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 4:

I did, finally. Yes.

02:09:48 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 3:

You?

02:09:48 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 4:

I got it right You never had a potbelly shake? I phoned a friend

02:09:51 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Thank you Spike

02:09:52 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 4:

Potbelly

02:09:54 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 3:

No, I've never had Okay They all closed around here And it was the saddest day of my life

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Potbelly shakes are the

02:10:00 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 5:

Greatest shakes ever. It's like real ice cream. Yeah, it's not fake ice cream. What is your... Wait, hold on a second. Somebody posted a lot of McDonald's. Laura, what's going on? Emotional eating. We're having a little emotional eating moment here.

02:10:18 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 3:

I was nine months pregnant, and I was driving. I had just eaten dinner with my husband, and I was going to the store, and I got two Big Macs and a large fry and a Coke, And I called my husband, and I had pulled over on a side street, and he was like, what's wrong? And I literally had a mouth full of Big Mac, and I was like, I can't stop eating.

02:10:43 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 5:

Again, tell us the order again.

02:10:46 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 3:

It was two Big Macs, a large fry, and a Coke. You go, girlfriend. Wow, that's amazing. I couldn't stop, and he was like, it's okay, it's okay. He's like, go home. And I'm like, I can't drive. I can't see anything.

02:11:01 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 5:

You know what, though? You deserve it. You brought a life into this world. That's awesome.

02:11:09 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:11:10 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Home of the phone scams, the War of the Roses, and the Dirty on 30. Steven on with us right now for Am I the A-Hole. You tell Steven if you think what he did was wrong. Steven, are you there?

02:11:26 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 6:

I'm here. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

02:11:28 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 5:

Here's the question. Can you ever say something to someone once they tell you what they're going to name their child if you don't like the name that they're going to name that baby? Steven, first off, who is it that's having a baby?

02:11:43 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 6:

It's my sister. My sister's having a baby.

02:11:46 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 5:

And your sister is going to name her baby something interesting. But tell us where she got the idea for this name before you tell us what the name is.

02:11:56 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 6:

so um my sister is obsessed with that show yellowstone oh yeah it's a good one god this

02:12:04 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 5:

name's gonna be good it's a good one all right and so i'm assuming rip is it rip because that

02:12:11 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 6:

would be the name that you would go with no man it's even crazier than that she wants to name the

02:12:17 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 5:

baby cowboy oh my gosh really cowboy that's interesting so she wants so she's she likes to show Yellowstone so much that she wants to name the baby Cowboy and have you told her your thoughts on that?

02:12:34 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I know I should keep my mouth shut, but I just, I had to say something, you know? I mean, I know it's not my baby, you know, but it's my future nephew and I just I don't want him to get picked on his whole life,

02:12:49 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 5:

you know? Although it kind of is a tough name, isn't it? Yeah, he's messing with Cowboy.

02:12:52 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 6:

I don't know, I guess so, man But you know how kids are I mean, you know, it's just a weird name It's unusual And I just feel like he's going to get ridiculed for it, you know

02:13:04 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 5:

I think nowadays, though Everybody's got unique names

02:13:07 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 2:

But kids always find a way Even the tamest names Kids find a way to make a cruel nickname Or bully you with it

02:13:16 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 5:

What do you guys think? First off, what do you guys think of the name Cowboy? Secondly, what do you guys think? is he is he the a-hole for not liking a sister's name and has anybody ever had that happen to them where you were going to name your child something and somebody spoke up and said that they didn't

02:13:32 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 4:

like the name i mean this is exactly why i never told anybody the names that we were thinking of you know when i was pregnant because i didn't want to hear from the peanut gallery like i didn't want anybody's opinion um with names i don't think you say anything i don't care if it's your sister your best friend your brother at your co-worker i don't i it's because there was so much thought that went into that and they made that decision i don't know i know megan i can hear you disagree but it no no it like crushed me when i did slip with smith's name and the reaction was so bad that yes it was so bad and i am not gonna call it the family member who had that reaction because you know who you are um it hurt my feelings so so so much and yeah i don't ever want to give an

02:14:24 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 1:

opinion on somebody else's baby name because i think shannon you're 100 right like it's not your place to do i also know that i don't make smart decisions and i wouldn't want the public to weigh in on it but i would like my brother to weigh in on it to make sure i'm not way out in

02:14:41 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

left field but there's a huge difference in what you said if your brother asked you for an opinion then you sit there and talk with talk about it with him right this is not that do you know what i mean and i don't think you're an a-hole steven but i just think that because you're trying to help but yeah if if

02:15:00 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 3:

If your family would have asked you, I think it would be a different ballgame. It would be a different story.

02:15:03 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 7:

But also, if you're trying to prevent a kid from being made fun of their whole life,

02:15:06 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 3:

isn't that like a knight in shining armor doing the right thing? Yes, but I'm sure mom and dad thought about that when they were trying to pick that name.

02:15:14 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 1:

Because I think a lot of people are walking around in these streets saying,

02:15:17 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

did my parents really think about this? Well, trust me, my initials are S&M.

02:15:24 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 2:

Cowboy. What do you think? Mojo in the Morning Show. Am I the a-hole? Brie, what are your thoughts?

02:15:30 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 8:

Hi. I actually kind of had something similar happen to me. I was going to name my youngest daughter Mina, and my mom absolutely hated it. She said everyone would call her Mimi, and that is my mom's name, from the kids. So she had me change it. She would every day at dinner just spew out random M names until we fell in love with Meadow, and now she's Meadow.

02:15:53 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. I love Meadow, though. Do you like that they spoke up, or do you wish that they would not have spoke up?

02:16:01 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 8:

I don't mind it. They're still very vocal about it, and she's three years old. They'll make jokes about it all the time. They'll be like, aren't you so glad you didn't name her Mina? I'm like, eh. I mean, I still liked it. Yeah.

02:16:12 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 2:

It's your baby, for goodness sakes.

02:16:14 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Who cares what everybody else thinks?

02:16:16 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 2:

Kayla, what's up? Am I the a-hole?

02:16:19 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. And no, I don't think you're an a-hole.

02:16:22 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, not me. I'm talking about, this is just the name of the thing that we do here. The Stevens on the phone. It's Steven the a-hole.

02:16:28 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 6:

Gotcha, yes. Well, with the name Cowboy, the thing I think about is, like, when you apply for jobs, I don't feel like that's, like, going to necessarily be taken seriously. And then the other thing I wanted to comment on is my own son. His name is Ezra. And when I was pregnant, I made the mistake of telling everybody what I was going to name him. And it made life a living hell the whole time I was pregnant, especially with hormones. I got so mad so many times about people's opinions.

02:17:01 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 2:

Ezra sounds like they should be a CEO of a major Fortune 500 company, you know, or the legal counsel. Crystal, what's going on?

02:17:13 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 5:

Well, first of all, I do agree that Cowboy is a strange name. I don't think he's an a-hole for that and I'm pregnant right now and my daughter's middle name is going to be Azalea and my mother-in-law said that her response to it was don't you know that's a weed or a shrub don't you know that's a shrub and that's what I'm saying

02:17:40 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 2:

but isn't it always the mother-in-laws that do that yeah but it's always the mother-in-laws that make that Or if you start sharing the names

02:17:49 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 1:

You'll run into that person With that name and they'll be like a giant A-hole Nobody knows a cowboy So I mean you're good there

02:17:59 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 3:

Do you know I have a cousin whose middle name legally is Vitamin Really? My middle name legally is Vitamin Interesting

02:18:06 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 2:

How kind of drugs did the family do?

02:18:09 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 3:

That was my uncle and no drugs But Shani's granny really wanted her To have a middle name and they didn't have a middle name For their oldest son my cousin Ian And so just out of protest, they got a dictionary, and they flipped through the pages of the dictionary and told my grandma, whatever name our finger lands on, that's going to be her male name.

02:18:24 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 2:

And you're telling me that no drugs are involved? No, no. Alcohol, maybe?

02:18:28 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 3:

Maybe some beer.

02:18:29 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah. What's up, Cliff?

02:18:31 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 4:

What's up? What's up? I don't think Stephen's an a-hole. I think as a family member, you have a responsibility when these kids are coming into your family. You don't want to set them up for, like, anything, name-calling or anything like that. I shot my daughter's name around, both my daughters. I shopped around the whole family just because I wanted to make sure.

02:18:48 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 3:

But you wanted the opinion.

02:18:50 - 02:18:50 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:18:50 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 3:

You wanted the opinion. In Stephen's case, it's not his child, and he wasn't asked for his opinion.

02:18:57 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 4:

Right, right. But the responsibility, I feel, will be because it's my sister, even though she didn't ask, this is my sister, I would have to at least go, hey, sir, you really going to call him Cowboy? You really going to do that?

02:19:10 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 3:

You said it so nicely, by the way.

02:19:13 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 2:

Michelle, you also hate the name Cowboy? yes yes really i i think it's kind of cool i don't know i just feel like the kids are gonna

02:19:22 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 9:

make horse jokes in school and it's just it's burdening the kids it's saddling them if you

02:19:27 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 7:

will rancher is a better name than cowboy well i my stepson um he has a cousin that was just born and they named him Splash, like I'm splashing in water, Wild.

02:19:44 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 2:

Splash Wild.

02:19:45 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 7:

Splash Wild.

02:19:47 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And there's no other Splash Wild? When his name is called in the class, guess what? He's the only one that will come to the front of the class.

02:19:56 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 7:

So it makes me think, like, am I the a-hole?

02:19:59 - 02:19:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:20:00 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 5:

uh caitlin you love the name cowboy i do and i actually have twin daughters and then shortly after i had another we had another daughter uh she was a surprise that nobody knew about so we called my mom and said mom we had a baby we named her kaylana and my mom said what the h you cannot name a kid kaylana that's not the reaction you're going again there's moms

02:20:25 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 4:

moms are always butting in they should not be butting in like that autumn you had a mother-in-law

02:20:30 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 6:

that was crazy about this huh yeah so i me and my husband are finally having our first baby and he wanted to name his son after his adopted name because he was adopted from russia and when we told her that that was our idea she threw the biggest fit like i love her to death but she started, like, freaking out, like, sobbing and, like, shaking because she was so mad about it.

02:20:56 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness. Well, you know what? She really has no right to be able to do that, right? So it's not.

02:21:04 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 6:

She was saying it was, like, that's another name another mother gave my son, and I can only think that's my son, not her son. But this is his son, and that's what he wants to do because he doesn't know any of his blood relatives. This is his birth. So she wanted some kind of, like, tribute to that. Yeah.

02:21:22 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You know what? That's where they just need to, they already had their chance to name their child, and you unfortunately married them. Right. I love her to death.

02:21:33 - 02:21:34 | Unknown:

Don't get me wrong.

02:21:34 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 4:

Any of these names or any possibility that your name choices might cause for some people to have a crazy eyeball or anything?

02:21:42 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, we are struggling with names. So Cowboy is now going to be on that list of names. No, honestly, I genuinely don't. We're struggling. Are you really? Yeah, yeah. It's really, really hard.

02:21:54 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 6:

Allie told me you have a name that you both agree on for a girl, but not a boy.

02:21:58 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 2:

Not a girl, but even then, we might not have a girl. So if we have a boy, you have no idea.

02:22:04 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 4:

Because you guys are waiting until that baby pops out, and you guys can then name that baby.

02:22:11 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but when Milo and Cecily, it was very, I don't want to say easy, but it seemed easier at the time to come up with these names.

02:22:19 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, I don't think you're an a-hole, Stephen, but I don't know if necessarily we got the right answer for you on what you should do. Mojo in the Morning.

02:22:29 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 1:

In 15 or less on Mojo in the Morning. It's Shannon's Dirty on the 30. But first.

02:22:35 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 4:

When you think of six on sex, you think of the embarrassment that the dad or mom has being on the phone while we ask the questions about the person's sex life. What would be the worst potential occupation for a dad to be? Cop. I don't know. Military.

02:22:52 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 3:

Radio DJ. Well, yeah, radio DJ.

02:22:55 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 4:

How about this one? Dad is a deacon in his church. And coming up next, his daughter wants to be on Six on Sex to win a prize.

02:23:05 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning, Six on Sex. Coming up in minutes. Six on.

02:23:10 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 3:

Six. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking.

02:23:16 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that a thing? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6.

02:23:21 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We're going to be doing 6 on 6 this morning. And Sierra's dad is a deacon at a church.

02:23:34 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Does he think you're a good girl, or does he know that you're really a bad girl? I mean, he raised me, like, so he knows. Like, I mean, I'm his little girl. He doesn't, I mean, you know.

02:23:49 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Sierra, your father is on the phone with us right now. Hello, sir.

02:23:54 - 02:23:54 | Unknown:

Hello.

02:23:55 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 4:

Before we go any further, I have to ask you if you are okay with being on the radio, your voice being on the radio with us?

02:24:02 - 02:24:03 | Unknown:

Yes, I'm all right.

02:24:03 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 4:

You're okay with it? You have no problem with that? No, you're not going to come after me at a later date? Oh, if she doesn't win, you'll come after me

02:24:14 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's up to you, that's not up to us Yeah, you're going to help her win the prize

02:24:19 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 4:

We'll explain the contest after Sierra tells you the name of the contest

02:24:23 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Dad Hi Oh, we're on the radio with Mojo and we're doing Six on Sex

02:24:30 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 6:

Six what?

02:24:34 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 7:

Six on Sex

02:24:35 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

Six on Sex is where we ask Sierra six very personal questions about her sex life. You just have to listen on the phone and get through all six questions. If you do, she wins a prize.

02:24:55 - 02:24:55 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:24:57 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Here we go. You just stay there.

02:25:00 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 1:

be a spectator. It's like you're part of the studio audience on a game show. Question number one, Sierra. How old were you when you lost your virginity? I was 16. Did you know that, Dad?

02:25:15 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 2:

No, I didn't. It's a big year for you. Driver's license and you lost your virginity all in one

02:25:20 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 1:

year. Sierra, question number two kind of relates to that. Where did you lose your virginity?

02:25:30 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 2:

Where were your parents when that was going on?

02:25:37 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 4:

My dad was at work. My mom was on the way home from work.

02:25:44 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 1:

Dad, you got through two questions. Okay. Should I continue?

02:25:49 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's interesting.

02:25:52 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

02:25:54 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 3:

You know, you're never too old to be grounded.

02:25:55 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 1:

Question number three, Sierra's being asked questions while her dad, who is a deacon, is on the phone with us right now. Sierra, what is your sexual nickname for your boyfriend?

02:26:08 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. It's King Kong. This is so bad.

02:26:19 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 3:

I think I just spilled coffee all over my keyboard.

02:26:21 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Sierra, have you ever had sex with more than one person at a time?

02:26:29 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Dad, don't be mad. But, yeah, I have.

02:26:34 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:26:36 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:26:36 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 1:

Who were these people?

02:26:39 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 4:

It was my best friend that I grew up with and her best friend.

02:26:43 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, wait. And her best friend? Yeah. So it was a girl, and was her best friend a guy or a girl?

02:26:51 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 4:

Another girl. Oh, my God. Wow. Sorry, Dad.

02:26:59 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 1:

You need the praise. Dad, are you sure you want me to keep on going?

02:27:08 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 3:

I have no problem with it. We are almost there.

02:27:11 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 1:

The prize is going to be so worth it for Sierra after this. Sierra, question number five. Just two more left. Okay. Where is your favorite place to take care of yourself? Maybe we should all pray for her. Maybe she doesn't need just a part of it. I think we all get to get all of our butts in a pew. I was young. You lived once. One last question, and then you win the prize, and your deacon father will have a conversation with you off the air. Question number six and six on sex. Where is the most public place, Sierra, that you've ever had sex?

02:27:56 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, guys. At a family reunion in the public bathroom. Oh, Lord.

02:28:03 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 1:

How often do you have reunions in your family, Sierra?

02:28:07 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 4:

Not too often.

02:28:09 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 1:

And was the reunion at a hall or where was it?

02:28:14 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 4:

No, it was at a park.

02:28:16 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Dad, you have survived six on sex.

02:28:27 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 3:

Love you, Dad.

02:28:30 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love you, too. Dad, any last words before I let you go and thank you for being on the radio with us?

02:28:41 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 4:

She needs to be in church Sunday, I know that.

02:28:44 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Mom. Dad, thank you so much for going on the air with us. I'm sorry that you had to be put through this, and I appreciate you giving us permission to put this on.

02:28:52 - 02:28:53 | Unknown:

Yeah, stay blessed.

02:28:53 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 1:

All right. Six. On. Six. Six.

02:28:57 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. Six on six.

02:29:00 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning show. It's time now to win some Taylor Swift tickets. Text to win right now. It's text for Taylor. Text. Let's do the word hero. H-E-R-O. Hero. HERO to 95500, standard text and data rates to apply. Text HERO to 95500, and you could win right now. Good luck to you.

02:29:31 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:29:33 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon's got that. And then Mike coming up here in just a matter of moments with the hot, awkward person. What's going on, Shannon?

02:29:47 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I've got an update to a story I told you about. In the very first Dirty of this morning, actress Amanda Bynes has been placed on a psychiatric hold after she was found roaming the streets of downtown L.A. naked and alone and an eyewitness.

02:30:00 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 1:

saw this happening. They saw Amanda walking naked again. This was early Sunday morning, I believe. So Amanda waved this woman's car down and told her she was coming down from a psychiatric episode. She then decided to call 911 on her own, was taken to a nearby police station where a mental health team determined she definitely needed to be placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold. So she is currently being hospitalized, getting the care she needs. I am told her parents are not considering another conservatorship for Amanda despite this new news we're finding out about her a source close to the family telling me that despite this incident Lynn and Rick Bynes they're basically finding solace in the fact that Amanda called the police on herself she she was well enough to know that she needed help um so we'll kind of just make

02:30:52 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 2:

decisions from here what is Amanda Bynes been up to uh these days has she done any acting at all? Or is she doing?

02:30:59 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 1:

Not that I know of, yeah. Sad.

02:31:01 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 2:

You hear so many of these stories, you know, these child actors, people that get in the spotlight and stuff and never get the help. Yeah. Yep. Ed Sheeran

02:31:11 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 1:

making an announcement that he has a brand new Disney Plus documentary series that's going to focus on his life. It's called The Sum of It All. Drops on May 3rd, two days before his album Subtract is released. It's a four-part series that will open the door into Ed's private life. And this is big because he's notoriously been very, very private about his wife, his kids, his struggles. And so he said now is the right time to open himself up to people.

02:31:39 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 3:

You guys said, do you want to make a documentary? And I went, yeah, it should be me in the studio and we'll play the gig. That's not what the documentary is.

02:31:50 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 2:

I lost. It just took over my life. Every time something massive happens, I tend to write a song about it.

02:31:59 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 1:

May 3rd. May 3rd is when you can see that.

02:32:01 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 2:

What was that from? Oh, that's the previews of it?

02:32:04 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 1:

Yep, that's the previews from. Again, it's called The Sum of It All. Preview from the documentary. You can see it on the dirty page at mojointheworning.com. It's posted today.

02:32:11 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 2:

When's he here? Is he in July? Also with everybody else?

02:32:15 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 3:

I believe so.

02:32:16 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

July's a huge month for Detroit, isn't it? Yeah. Well, between the start of June with Taylor Swift and then...

02:32:24 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, July 15th.

02:32:25 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 2:

Drake, man, oh my gosh.

02:32:27 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 3:

It's all in like two weeks, all these major artists.

02:32:31 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait until it's all over with and people stop asking me for tickets. I know.

02:32:36 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys remember I told you last week that Shaquille O'Neal is like MIA amid people trying to serve him in a lawsuit over that FTX, that failed cryptocurrency, because he was promoting it, and so a bunch of the people, the celebrities who are promoting it are getting sued by some random guy. Anyway, well, yeah, yes, maybe. Yeah. Well, now I know where he's been. He's been healing from hip surgery. So I don't know that it was on purpose that he was hiding. Like he's actually recovering from hip correction surgery. So he's not hiding. And apparently persistent injury. Yeah. Surgery went well. He is healing post operation. Very focused on just recovering at this time. There was an image posted to social media yesterday, and it shows Shaq laying flat on his back in a hospital bed. He's got a blue hospital gown hooked up to all these machines. So I don't know how long he's in recovery. Maybe they serve him now.

02:33:33 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 2:

He's going to be stuck there for a little bit. Yeah, yeah.

02:33:36 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if they can let you in to do that, but I don't know when he's going to make his return to TV. And I'm ending with a poop story today. Okay. Hillary and Chelsea Clinton attended Some Like It Hot on Broadway when something kind of strange went down in the aisle right next to them. Someone pooped. Somebody left a poop in the aisle. Somebody made a stinky. Inside the legendary Schubert Theater. Now, a couple of conflicting stories about this mysterious poop. A source close to the show insists it was a one-off incident. It was not meant for the Clinton ladies. But another source tells me that the theater staff says this has happened at other performances as well. Like, there is a serial pooper on the loose.

02:34:21 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, it's really awkward to go to the restroom in the middle of a musical. People don't want to get up in the middle of a play and get pointed out for disrupting the viewing.

02:34:31 - 02:34:34 | Speaker 2:

So maybe someone's just trying to hold it in.

02:34:34 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 1:

Just happened to be by Hillary and Chelsea.

02:34:35 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. You're saying that this person's either not unstable or trying to make a presence? Anyone that makes a choice to poop in public. No, you guys, everybody who goes to theater productions is old. Somebody's sending a message Or they're But they're saying it's a serial pooper Not just this one time Somebody's not sending it to just them Somebody is sending the message to the

02:35:00 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 3:

Or doing something in the theater Because why What message are you sending When you poop yourself No Old people just don't poop In a theater

02:35:07 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 5:

First of all Old people literally poop Everywhere Everywhere Everywhere I need you to go On either TikTok Or YouTube Don't ask me why I know this It's not I've worked in a retirement home People pooping in public It's always Old people Always

02:35:24 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 4:

02:35:28 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 5:

02:35:31 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 4:

Talk to people who work in malls or ram horns or anywhere where old people congregate. It's a regular thing.

02:35:37 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 3:

Call us up. Let's do this. Where did you find the poop? Where did they poop?

02:35:42 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 1:

I did find the poop at my therapist's office in the bathroom one time.

02:35:47 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, that particular thing doesn't count.

02:35:49 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 4:

Mojo's talking about where did you discover one that was not in a bathroom?

02:35:52 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 1:

They didn't make it to the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom, there was a poop.

02:35:57 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 3:

At the therapist's office?

02:35:58 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 1:

Yes, the old one, Mojo, because we go to the same therapy office. The old one, remember how you had to round the corner after the physical therapy place to get to the bathroom? It was in that hallway right there. Do you know who goes to physical therapy? Old people.

02:36:11 - 02:36:12 | Unknown:

I know. That's what I'm saying.

02:36:13 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 1:

02:36:49 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh Did the people in the booth next to her notice that? Or did they just continue eating their food?

02:36:57 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 6:

They got up and left It was in the booth. It was around people. It was right in the little center of the restaurant. I just looked at my boss. I was like, I have children at home. I don't get paid enough for this.

02:37:10 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 3:

844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Hello, Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:37:17 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 8:

Hi, this is Madison. I was calling about the poo. Yes.

02:37:21 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Let's use no words stronger than the P word, okay?

02:37:26 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

02:37:27 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 3:

So where were you when you saw somebody just poop?

02:37:34 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 8:

Well, actually, it was at work going into the bathroom. I'm actually the one that found it. It was beside the toilet.

02:37:43 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait. So they didn't even make it in.

02:37:44 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 8:

It was way off the edge of it.

02:37:47 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. What kind of workplace?

02:37:49 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 8:

Terrible.

02:37:50 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I'm sorry? What kind of workplace?

02:37:54 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 8:

It's a factory.

02:37:55 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 3:

I bet that happens. I bet you, though, that you could probably pick about five or six guys that work in that factory that did that thing. Was it a women's restroom or a guy's restroom?

02:38:03 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 8:

It was a female. Oh, it was a female's restroom.

02:38:06 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 3:

Someone was racing and lost. They didn't make it. Somebody just said in the aisle at Aldi, another person just said, hold on a second, a retired Detroit police officer, Melissa, is that her name? Melinda. melinda hello hi how are you melinda was this a case that you were called to or where was it

02:38:31 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 9:

02:39:02 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh

02:39:03 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 9:

That's when I feel bad

02:39:04 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 4:

02:39:08 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 3:

Lindsay what's up? It's Mojo in the morning

02:39:10 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 7:

Hi good morning Good morning Yeah one time I was at the mall with my grandma Because I take care of her And we were shopping And she went into the family restroom And I didn't really think much about it And then I heard her screaming And I went in there And she sat down on one of those little mini toilets Like the kids For the toddlers Yeah, and she got stuff on it And she pooped Like on the walls Oh no It took me like 45 minutes To get her up off the toilet

02:39:45 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she didn't know it was for little kids Did you clean it up Or just leave it

02:39:50 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 7:

I tried to clean it up But I didn't have anything to clean it with So I just pulled somebody

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh jeez wow

02:40:00 - 02:40:03 | Speaker 6:

Thanks for telling them, at least, not leaving it for the rest of the day. Yeah.

02:40:03 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 1:

Most people would. Thank you for the call.

02:40:06 - 02:40:08 | Speaker 4:

Spike does another senseless survey at 950.

02:40:09 - 02:40:12 | Unknown:

02:40:19 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

02:40:25 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 7:

This is Mark.

02:40:26 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 6:

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 7:

Which sides are there?

02:40:47 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 6:

It's basically an open-ended question. I can't really feed you an answer for the survey.

02:40:55 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 7:

The abstainers.

02:40:56 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 6:

And how often do you play with your we?

02:40:59 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 7:

I don't have one.

02:41:01 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 6:

If there were a breakfast war, do you think the French toast would surrender to the English muffin?

02:41:06 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 7:

No.

02:41:06 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Instead of road salt in wintertime, should we use road pepper? Since it's already black, it'll blend in nicer?

02:41:13 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 7:

Something like that, yeah.

02:41:15 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 6:

How much longer do you think Dippin' Dots will be the ice cream of the future?

02:41:20 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 7:

Oh, probably my lifetime at least.

02:41:24 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 6:

And on a scale of 1 to 10, how cuddly are you?

02:41:27 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 7:

You have to ask my wife that one.

02:41:28 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 6:

Are you looking forward to practicing some voodoo this summer? Nope. Who do you think would win in a fight between munchkins and leprechauns?

02:41:36 - 02:41:36 | Unknown:

Leprechauns.

02:41:37 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 6:

Would you like to see hard liquor come in juice box form? No. What's your nickname around town?

02:41:42 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 7:

I don't have one.

02:41:44 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 6:

Should we come up with one?

02:41:45 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 7:

No.

02:41:45 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 6:

Because I could help you. I'm pretty good at them.

02:41:47 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 7:

Bill, we about ready to wrap this up. I got to get going.

02:41:50 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. I just have two questions left. What's the last thing you shot with a crossbow?

02:41:55 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 7:

Too many things to remember

02:41:58 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 6:

All right And how long are your dreadlocks?

02:42:01 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 7:

I think we're over on our questions All right

02:42:06 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 1:

That's one of those guys Where I would probably suggest We don't call him back Very, very tough man there It's a senseless survey Here on Mojo in the Morning

02:42:25 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the morning show i was having a conversation with mike yesterday on the phone and we're talking and i said to him i go can you hang on for one second i gotta bring food up to my neighbor's house my neighbor britney was uh dog sitting for me yesterday while i was at work you know making sure that my dogs didn't like poop all over my house so she took them out so as a favor i went and picked up some chicken salad from lulu's for her and i walk up to the door and when i walk up to the the door i ring the doorbell and mike you were listening the whole time i go oh my god yeah she has a sign on her door that i don't know did you guys have this with milo and cecily the sign says please don't ring the doorbell baby

02:43:27 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 2:

sleeping no we don't but we have a if you wake it you take it like if you wake the baby it's yours you get to hold the baby you get whatever needs to be done change the diaper

02:43:36 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 1:

and i was all i woke up and i woke up uh her her daughter which was awful i didn't even see it i didn't yeah i wasn't i'm talking to mike i'm doing like i'm just it's a horrible thing but uh i felt like such a jerk uh doing that because i remember when joey was a little baby we had a neighbor that would go outside always at the exact time that joe would go down for his afternoon lap and nap and he would use every electronic or or power tool that he needed oh geez all of a sudden it's like one day he's using you know his lawnmower the next day the guy's got his chainsaw literally outside at that moment like trimming his bushes and trees and then he's got his weed whackers and he's got all the rest of that stuff but it would always happen so I felt like it's

02:44:25 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 3:

such a jerk Mike yeah I used to have a door I had like a doormat did you or whatever that said I dare you to ring the doorbell and wake up my sleeping child and like it was for a joke but also like I was serious yeah what were you gonna ask me uh did you say anything to the neighbors

02:44:40 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

like can you say anything to the neighbors when they do that when they're like uh being loud with your kids yeah i don't you know what you probably could i mean i see our neighbors now we're different than our neighbors back when the kids were younger like our neighbors now are really you know conscientious about trying not to you know to interrupt others

02:45:00 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 2:

I lived in a neighborhood with Joe that the homes were, they were, it was practically apartments. You know, we were right on top of each other and everybody, well, it was also a military too. We also had like some military stuff going on because we were right by, we were in Tucson by Davis Mothin Air Force Base. So we had, you had everything. You had one neighbor on one side of you that was the power guy, the power tool guy. And then you had the neighbors on the other side that threw parties in the middle of the night. Like when they were coming back from being deployed, they had the most amazing parties. The problem was your children were up all because of it. So it was rather have the power tools. How are your neighbors going to be with the new baby, Mike? Will they be relatively quiet?

02:45:47 - 02:46:39 | Speaker 1:

They have a dog that barks at everybody that walks by. That's my only concern. And it's usually it was by Milo or usually it's by Milo's. so when my we first moved in it was it was rough because milo would no pun intended but it was rough because milo would literally be napping and and you'd hear that dog just barking and barking and barking and did you ever say anything or um we i walked up the driveway one day and it ran out because it literally barks at us still yeah it barks at every single neighbor and it ran up to me one day and he was just standing there as it's barking he doesn't do anything i think that's the worst part is he sees what's happening he sees the bad behavior and he just stands there and watches it and so i said can you stop this and he goes he goes what stop the barking and i said yes and then he brought the dog in and we haven't we haven't talked since which is probably a good

02:46:39 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 2:

thing yeah i don't care i was just i just brought this up and uh hold on uh britney actually just sent me a text message because she's listening right now and uh oh i feel horrible doing this She was doing me a favor. Brett? Oh, she didn't pick up yet. I'm one of those people that talks to a ringing phone. I've become my mom and dad all in the same lesson. Hi. Hi. Are you listening, obviously? What does your sign actually say?

02:47:09 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 3:

It says, please do not knock or ring the bell. It upsets the dog, which upsets the baby, which upsets the mom. Oh, that's right.

02:47:19 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 2:

I felt horrible yesterday when that happened. Oh, my God.

02:47:25 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

It's fine. I mean, thank God she loves you.

02:47:28 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 2:

Uncle Tom. That's right. Which I hate being – my real name is Tom for the listeners that don't know that.

02:47:34 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:47:35 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm being called an Uncle Tom. That's what I'm being called. Question for you, you know, about this. In our neighborhood, any neighbors that are inconsiderate towards, you know, when Brooke is trying to sleep and take a nap?

02:47:50 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:47:52 - 02:47:53 | Speaker 2:

Who's the most inconsiderate neighbor?

02:47:56 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, you right now.

02:47:59 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 2:

Can I talk to Brooke?

02:48:02 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Okay. Say hi, Uncle Tom.

02:48:04 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Brooke.

02:48:05 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Uncle Tom.

02:48:06 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Brooke. How you doing?

02:48:09 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 3:

Are you good?

02:48:11 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 2:

Brooke.

02:48:12 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 3:

Are you good? Hey, Brooke. Hey, hi, Uncle Tom. How are you? Hi, Uncle Tom.

02:48:16 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Brooke. Brooke is my favorite because, listen to this, when Brooke is over at our house, it's either one of three things that we are watching. Paw Patrol, right, Brooke? You like Paw Patrol?

02:48:29 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah? I like Bluey. Bluey.

02:48:35 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Bluey. Now Bluey. And Chris Brown and Lil Nas X. Those are the choices. Yeah.

02:48:45 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 4:

I want to go to their house.

02:48:47 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 2:

You want to go to my house?

02:48:49 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 4:

That's so cute. I want to go to their house.

02:48:52 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 2:

You can come to my house anytime you want to. She loves it. And Chelsea, by the way.

02:48:56 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 4:

I want to go to their house today. Today? Today.

02:49:00 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes, today. Today. You come over. Chelsea's going to be home tonight. Make sure that you come over tonight. Chelsea will be home. You can come over today, too, if you want to. She knows what she likes. Okay. Okay. Oh, my goodness. I love you, Brookie B.

02:49:14 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 4:

I love you. I love you.

02:49:16 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. I'll talk to you later. Sorry for waking you up.

02:49:19 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 4:

Bye. Love you. Bye, Britt. Love you. Bye-bye. She's so cute. Yeah, she's so cute.

02:49:24 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny because we'll sit there and we'll be like, what are we going to watch? We'll watch like one of the kid shows and then she'll go, Chris Brown. And for some reason, she likes putting on Chris Brown videos. It's like the crazy, and Lil Nas X. It's like, oh my God. All right. Mojo in the morning show. So, Mike, for some reason, those hot people, we have to call them out right now, right? Or the hot, awkward person.

02:49:48 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so my buddy stopped by yesterday. He sent me a picture of a case of Oberon, and he goes, I want to stop by. I want to say, let's have an Oberon. I said, all right, sure, whatever. What I didn't know is he was bringing a girl he's dating with her.

02:50:00 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 4:

And he does this thing that I just started to pick up on where he brings girls over that he's dating to be around the kids to see how they act. Because I have a daughter who's eight years old and a son who is three years old. And so what he'll do is he'll just come hang out and then see how they act around them. And if they're, it's like a dog. It's like a dog, honestly.

02:50:19 - 02:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like a good test of character.

02:50:20 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Wait, yes. Wait, hold on a second. And so they come over to your house, and if the girls act a certain way, like, what is he trying to see? If they're good with kids?

02:50:31 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. And how the kids kind of react to them, too. Like, my kids will talk anybody's ear off, except, well, my daughter will. My son will just kind of just sit there and kind of eye you, look you up and down for a little bit.

02:50:44 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 2:

You just give dirty looks, man.

02:50:45 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know why he does it.

02:50:48 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 3:

Once he opens up, he does.

02:50:49 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 2:

His side eye is spot on.

02:50:51 - 02:50:51 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:50:51 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 3:

Is he being judgmental, or is that kind of his thing? No, he's shy. He's very, very shy. I promise you, he's just a shy little dude. I think he's flirting when he does it to you, Megan.

02:51:02 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 4:

That kid looks into my soul and judges me as a human being.

02:51:07 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 3:

Do you think his dad goes home and tells him stories about you, and he's like, oh, this is that woman?

02:51:12 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 4:

For sure. For sure. My daughter, she must see videos of when we do the Slightly Messy show. I must be scrolling or something. She'll start dabbing. She said, hey, girl, the other day. Hey, girl. I'm trying to make Cecily mean just so you have to deal with me for the rest of your life.

02:51:30 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 3:

So with the friend of yours that does this with the hot girls that come over to the house, has he ever found that some of these girls are not good with the kids?

02:51:40 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 4:

So this happened yesterday, and some of them are, it's just whatever, and I think it just kind of fizzles out. But yesterday's was the weirdest in the entire world. And there should be, I think there is, I don't know if anybody's actually made one, but I think there's a scale for guys and girls of, like, hot and crazy, or there should be one for hot and weird. Like, there's a level that you fall into, and maybe you're funny, and that kind of outweighs certain other things. Or maybe you had a really, really good personality or a big heart. But this girl, you guys, and we tried, was the most awkward human being in the entire universe. Like how? Like, she would say things, like, she would start talking, and she'd say things, and she would just laugh at it. Like, just laugh. And we'd go, we'd just kind of look, and, like, there was no punchline. There was no, just whatever she said was the funniest thing in the entire world. And I'm like, you know what? We're all awkward. We're all weird, in fact.

02:52:33 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 2:

She was nervous, maybe.

02:52:34 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 4:

And that could be it. But then she, it was almost like, it was almost like my kids were annoying to her at that point. And my daughter. Yeah, and my daughter was, like, trying to talk to her or whatever. And then so she got, like, snippy with the kids. And I'm like, okay, okay, you know, Cecily, back off because my daughter can be overwhelming. I get it. I'm her dad. I get it 110%.

02:52:54 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 3:

No, if they don't like Cecily and like Cecily's personality, they deserve to go.

02:53:02 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 4:

She's just – but she was awkward, and then it was like – it's hard to explain. But she thought everything was funny, and then my daughter has zero filter right now. She's at a point where she just says whatever. So she is very much like Megan Where she says whatever pops into her head And she goes What is so funny why do you keep laughing

02:53:22 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 3:

I love it

02:53:23 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 4:

And for the rest of the day That girl was very very quiet And she was like snippy with everybody Like she was too cool to be around us It was just weird

02:53:34 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 3:

You are saving your buddy From a potential bad person To be in a relationship with Because if they don't like kids And no offense to anybody that doesn't like kids But this guy likes kids and he wants to be with somebody that likes kids.

02:53:47 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 2:

Also, if you're meeting somebody for the first time and you're acting that way, when you want to make a really great first impression and you just don't give two F's, that says so much about you.

02:53:58 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Right? Yeah. Yeah. You're right. 100% right. And so we tried to just be nice. Like, we were nice and, you know, very courteous and civil about everything. But he asked me what we thought and I still haven't responded to him yet. Well, send him the podcast from this break.

02:54:14 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Courtney, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:54:16 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I was listening to you guys, and I don't know if you've ever seen the show How I Met Your Mother, but they have the hot, crazy scale on that.

02:54:24 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? What is the hot, crazy scale? I have never watched that show.

02:54:29 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 1:

No? Oh, it's so good. uh basically barney which is neil patrick harris does this bit about how a girl can be this hot and this crazy but can't cross like a specific axis on the scale oh okay all right too hot

02:54:47 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 4:

or too crazy so they need that for awkwardness they need the same guys guys and girls guys and girls they need a you can be this hot but you can maybe only be this awkward and you can be Yeah, it has to add up.

02:55:02 - 02:55:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because it was weird, man.

02:55:03 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 2:

It was very, very uncomfortable.

02:55:05 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that if his friend, you know, comes over with these girls and the kids don't like him, do you think that he should continue to date them or do you think that that's a red flag?

02:55:17 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 4:

I think that's a huge red flag. Yeah. I do.

02:55:20 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 3:

And Mike's kids are great kids.

02:55:21 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 4:

You kind of have to, like, yeah. Yeah. So your friends have to like the kids. The girlfriends have to like the kids. Everybody has to like the kids.

02:55:29 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 3:

they're the most important part yeah that's that's a good point thank you for the call appreciate it yeah no problem take care of yourself so it's the it's the hot what was it again the hot crazy scale hot crazy scale so um cecily could you imagine what cecily

02:55:48 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 2:

she's so funny she's so funny because there's zero filter so she's like asking her questions and trying to get to know this girl. And this girl was like too cool. It was like a teenage girl, it felt like. This girl was too cool to talk to my daughter. She wanted to talk to the grownups and not the little kids. And then everything she said was the funniest thing in the world. It was like Jimmy Fallon.

02:56:11 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so awkward.

02:56:11 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 3:

It was like Jimmy Fallon. Mojo on the morning show. So, Spike, this weekend we stayed in West Michigan at City Flats, which, by the way, thank you to City Flats for housing the Mojo on the morning show. Those are cool rooms.

02:56:26 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 1:

I loved it. Yeah.

02:56:27 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 3:

And you say, though, there was one thing that was a little difficult to do?

02:56:33 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, it wasn't difficult. Just afterwards, I was a little nervous. I had to check and ask where Megan was staying because...

02:56:40 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 3:

Megan, not your girlfriend, but Megan from our show. Megan on the show, yeah. Yeah.

02:56:45 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 1:

I think we could all agree that hotels are for sex. And there's nothing better than hotels for sex and being naked. And, you know, you're less inhibited. You can have your fun. But then after my girlfriend, Megan, I got there Friday night and had our fun. I said, oh, no. Megan from our show is staying tonight. I wonder if they put us all in the same block of rooms and she's in the adjoining room because there was that, you know, you have that adjoining door. I was like, I had this wave of panic rush over my body like, oh no, what if we were just a little too, having a little too much fun and my co-worker. Megan, how does that make you feel?

02:57:28 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, I've always been very uncomfortable with the fact that Spike decided to date a girl named Megan because it's very weird to me. The fact that I know right now people are confused over what Megan you're talking about gives me the actual heebie-jeebies. And then for him to confuse or to address me this weekend and say, hey, just wanted to make sure you didn't hear me last night. What is the straw that broke the camel's back of how many times I can vomit in my mouth that it actually coming out? Were you right next to that? No, thank God. But the fact that he brought up, hey, just wanted to double check that you're going to hit me last night.

02:58:08 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 1:

I asked what floor you were on, and then you asked why, and then I said because, you know. Listen, hotel sex, first of all, there's a rush of dopamine when you have sex in hotels. There's an actual, scientists will tell you there's a chemical that mediates the pleasure in your brain when you get that.

02:58:26 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 3:

What scientists are you talking to about hotel sex?

02:58:29 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 1:

The guy that was in the lobby while I was waiting for my Uber. He said he was a scientist. Yeah. But no, but it's fun because you're like, you know, you can be louder.

02:58:37 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 3:

You can. We were having a weekend when you're on a business trip where you could have your co-worker in the room next to you.

02:58:44 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know what happened to people to think that they can be as loud as they want in hotel rooms like they are the soundproof. They're not. No. Everybody else can hear you and you're rude.

02:58:53 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. But here's the thing. We were having a rare, rare weekend without kids. So, Meg and I were enjoying having a weekend to ourselves, and since we were up there with no responsibilities Friday night, it's great that you can have no distractions. There's no neighbors or no Amazon packages or no barking dogs or no kids with homework. You have no responsibilities or stress or anxiety. Yeah.

02:59:20 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 3:

Those beds looked like they were a little thin for big-time hotel sex.

02:59:27 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 1:

They were super comfortable beds. Were they? Yeah.

02:59:29 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 3:

They looked low to the ground, and they looked like there was not a lot of padding.

02:59:32 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 1:

You get a running start.

02:59:34 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I know most people would say, you don't have kids this weekend. I'm very happy for you. But I just want to let you know, I feel the opposite. I'm not happy for you at all. Keeping your pants. I don't want to talk about it.

02:59:47 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 1:

We can go home and have quiet, respectful sex once you're back home. This is about, you don't care. You're never going to see the people in the hotel again. You're supposed to have fun and be loud.

02:59:56 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you came into Grand Rapids Brewing Company like it.

03:00:00 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 4:

It was a humble brag. Hey, are you next to me? Because we just had wild sex. Pretty sure that's not how I said it.

03:00:05 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 7:

That's exactly how you, you literally started the morning with, did you hear me?

03:00:11 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, that, you just brought up a good point. That's another thing that's great about hotel sex. You don't have to make breakfast the next day. You can just roll out, get some eggs.

03:00:17 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 5:

Text 419 says, that was hella awkward, LMAO. I'm so happy I didn't hear myself. I do love you guys, though.

03:00:28 - 03:00:51 | Speaker 4:

team megan so in a hotel the whole centerpiece of the room focus all attention it's all about the bed that's the sometimes that's the one only piece of furniture other than the shower which you also get as a bonus right so are you saying that you did it in the bed and in the shower too well if you're saying it's awkward and i shouldn't talk about it with you guys both seem like you

03:00:51 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 5:

guys were you didn't seem as as over served as uh as your girlfriend did no i don't really get drunk. She seemed like she might have been a little drunk. Was she a little drunk? Saturday she was. So the sex was on Friday night?

03:01:02 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Sex was Friday and Saturday. Oh, really?

03:01:06 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 5:

We had no kids. I know, but I understand. But she's so drunk you'd think that that would be a time where she's like, I just want to go to bed. No? She likes to have a lot of sex? Yeah. Wow. Fucking guy. What's up, Dan?

03:01:20 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 3:

I just love that this show really reinforces how alone I am all the time. Wait, Megan, we tried with you. Remember? I'm not going to say who.

03:01:30 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you tried to bring Megan into your relationship? No, I don't remember. No.

03:01:34 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 3:

We tried to hook up Megan that day. Oh, we did. And, oh, I wanted that to work so bad for you. We should do that as a topic. We should have talked about that. We should talk about that, actually.

03:01:45 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 5:

Denny, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

03:01:47 - 03:01:48 | Unknown:

Hey.

03:01:48 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Denny. How you doing? How y'all doing?

03:01:52 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

03:01:52 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 1:

Good.

03:01:52 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 5:

What's up? What's going on?

03:01:53 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I used to be hearing people like Spike all the time When I was a security guard Wait, you heard Spike?

03:02:03 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you were a security guard at a hotel So you would hear people like Spike having hotel sex?

03:02:10 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, they think the only body can hear him And I can walk down the hall and hear him all the time

03:02:14 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 4:

Denny, first of all, I know people can hear me I don't care That's the great thing about a hotel You don't care if it's loud And you don't care if you leave a mess You just make sure you leave a nice tip for the housekeeping staff But remember that R. Kelly said After the show, it's the after party After the party, it's the hotel lobby Round four, you clear the lobby Take it to the room and greet somebody

03:02:32 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 5:

Did you just say that? Did you say it with an R. Kelly quote? Yeah, you're quoting R. Kelly By the way, his were underage, people

03:02:41 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Just so everybody knows that That was in the innocent R. Kelly phase Where we didn't know he was an a-hole Oh my gosh Hey, security

03:02:49 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 5:

week. All right, top trending stories. Get a couple of these stories on here before we take off today. So today's day, we may actually hear more about it later today, but he said it was possibly going to happen. The former president of the United States, Donald Trump, might get arrested. Here's a story from ABC News. This morning, police in several major cities are on

03:03:18 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 6:

alert for potential unrest in case former president trump is indicted which trump has claimed will

03:03:24 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 5:

happen today it may not happen but the probability probability is it will happen in new york police

03:03:30 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 6:

have set up barricades outside the courthouse where trump could be fingerprinted and photographed if charges are filed and every member of the nypd is reportedly being told to be in uniform today After Trump called on his supporters to protest, the NYPD says it's seeing calls on social media for demonstrations, roadblocks, and even a trucker boycott.

03:03:53 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 7:

We're here to claim our streets back. We need a DA who's going to focus on doing the job and not weaponizing his office.

03:04:01 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 6:

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is considering whether to charge Trump with falsified documents in connection with the hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. Republicans accused Bragg of playing politics. Florida governor and likely presidential candidate Ron DeSantis took a shot at both Bragg and Trump yesterday.

03:04:24 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 2:

Look, I don't know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair. I just, I can't speak to that. The Manhattan district attorney is a Soros-funded prosecutor. And so he, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society.

03:04:48 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Bragg responded to DeSantis saying homicides and shootings are down in Manhattan. Meanwhile, attorney and Trump ally Robert Costello appeared before the grand jury yesterday.

03:05:00 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 3:

requests of Trump's lawyers, hoping to offer evidence that contradicts testimony from Michael Cohen. Cohen spent more than a year in prison after pleading guilty to campaign finance violations, admitting he helped arrange the payment to Stormy Daniels at Trump's direction.

03:05:16 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 2:

If they want to go after Donald Trump and they have solid evidence, so be it. But Michael

03:05:20 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 3:

Cohen is far from solid evidence. Cohen responded last night, calling Costello's statements false.

03:05:26 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 5:

There's not another dope that's willing to put his backside on the line for Donald. For whatever the reason Costello is elected to do this, I don't know.

03:05:36 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Be interesting to see what happens if today is the day or if it ever does happen. You played a clip from Chris Rock earlier today saying that it was a bad idea to arrest the president because it will only make him more popular. Can you picture like a re-election campaign where his picture of him getting booked, you know, his mugshot is now is that's the new hat. That's the new MAGA hat. But we will keep our eye on that and see what exactly happens. Yesterday, President Biden signed a bill requiring the intelligence community to release all materials related to the origins of COVID-19, including the possible links to an alleged leak in a lab in Wuhan, China. So that came out yesterday. And that was after, by the way, remember the FBI came out and said that they believe that there's a possibility that it did come from that lab. So now they're officially going to release all the stuff that they know about it and do some more investigation on it. Another airplane issue happened yesterday, too. A plane almost collided with a helicopter at an airport in California, that Burbank Airport in California. Oh, yeah. A Southwest Airlines flight was approaching the runway when at 9.50 a.m. the air traffic controller noticed that the Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter was going to the same runway. They would have crashed into each other.

03:07:06 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Holy cow.

03:07:06 - 03:07:35 | Speaker 4:

If it wasn't that the person, the FAA person said, you know, don't land, don't land. So the plane ended up having to circle back around and then come back and try to land again. And did you, when the kids were younger, or Spike and maybe you did this too with your kids when they were younger, did you ever take them on flights and they would just sit on your lap during the entire flight?

03:07:35 - 03:07:35 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

03:07:36 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, when they were babies or infants.

03:07:36 - 03:07:39 | Speaker 6:

I took Smith on his first flight when he was four weeks old.

03:07:39 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 4:

Flight attendants want to ban lap babies on planes. So the flight attendants union is saying that lap babies are dangerous and that every passenger should be buckled. They're now coming out. The Association for Flight Attendants is pressing for this to be a requirement, making it that all babies should have to be in some kind of a restraint, possibly would be their car seats at the time.

03:08:07 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 7:

I mean, they're not wrong because of the increased turbulence we've seen over the last three decades. It's dangerous. Yeah, I wouldn't be upset about that. But also, how about you lower the price and do an infant price for flights because there's no way a family with babies can even afford it anymore. You have to all of a sudden buy a seat for the car seat.

03:08:26 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 1:

That's all tickets in general. Well, yeah. But I always wondered, if you're traveling with a baby and they're riding on your lap, once you land, how do you travel in a car? You have a car seat?

03:08:35 - 03:08:38 | Speaker 7:

No, rental cars. All the rental companies have a car seat. Yeah, they put them in there.

03:08:38 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh. Yeah, they make it really nice and easy.

03:08:40 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, a lot of the people bring their car seats, but they check the car seats. Yeah. Yeah. This story is wild, and it's going to grow over the next day or so. A Colorado dentist is now being accused of poisoning his wife's protein shakes.

03:08:55 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 6:

God, this story. I am fascinated by this story.

03:08:57 - 03:09:14 | Speaker 4:

Killing her, and it was the people that worked in his dental office that were the ones that turned him in after the wife turned up dead. And now text messages are coming out that show that he possibly ordered an arsenic to put into her protein shake.

03:09:14 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, not possibly. He did. This morning, a Colorado dentist waking up behind bars accused of poisoning his wife and the mother of their six children. Police calling Angela Craig's death heinous, complex, and calculated, alleging James purchased arsenic and cyanide and secretly poisoned her protein shakes. According to the arrest warrant, after multiple recent hospital visits, Angela again checked into a hospital Wednesday morning, complaining of a severe headache and dizziness. Around 2 p.m., she had a seizure, her condition rapidly declining, doctors moving her to the ICU where she was put on life support before passing away Saturday.

03:09:55 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 3:

My heart is broken for those children. They've lost a mother. zeroing in on her husband according to the warrant after his co-worker told a nurse that James had ordered potassium cyanide to the office adding there was no medical reason or purpose to make such an order the keys going to be the

03:10:15 - 03:10:22 | Speaker 7:

following can they trace whatever killed her to him did he order it did he pick

03:10:22 - 03:10:27 | Speaker 3:

it up James a dentist at Summerbrook dental group in Aurora seen here in this

03:10:27 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 2:

promotional video. My approach to dentistry begins with sincerely listening to the patient.

03:10:32 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 3:

His patients say they relied on him to ease their anxiety. He always made sure that I was okay and

03:10:40 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 8:

comfortable and now I think my anxiety is even more heightened because I'm like who do I trust?

03:10:46 - 03:11:13 | Speaker 3:

Police also believe that James was having an affair even flying a woman out to see him while his wife was dying in the hospital. Family members telling authorities this is not the first time James had tried to poison his wife, and the week before her death, she texted him that her head felt funny and dizzy, then said, I feel drugged, James replying, given our history, I know that must be triggering. Just for the record, I didn't drug you.

03:11:14 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Is that crazy?

03:11:16 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 2:

That's what somebody who drugs somebody says. Right. That's literally the exact word. I didn't do it.

03:11:21 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 1:

The crazy part is, and like I said, I've been so invested in this story. Like, on the days he would drug her, he would write her these, like, beautifully loving text messages about how much he loved her. I mean, the whole thing was just...

03:11:33 - 03:11:35 | Speaker 5:

You now had just screwed me over because...

03:11:35 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 1:

So screwed.

03:11:36 - 03:11:44 | Speaker 5:

I just wrote my wife amazing text messages telling her how much I miss her and can't wait for her to come home. She's not going to come home. She's going to think I'm going to kill her.

03:11:44 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 2:

Don't do anything. Only.

03:11:45 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 5:

You only write nice stuff when you're about to kill me. Hey, we have another shortage. I told you last week about jelly beans being a shortage, that they don't think they have enough jelly beans for Easter.

03:11:56 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 6:

That's fine. We don't need them.

03:11:57 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 5:

Now in time for Cinco de Mayo, there's a tequila shortage. Stop. Yes. The extreme weather across Mexico the last several years has threatened the crop of agave, which is the main ingredient in tequila.

03:12:16 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 1:

I love this song. I remember how bad I needed it when I tasted it.

03:12:23 - 03:12:54 | Speaker 5:

So they're saying that there is a shortage of that tequila. I'll tell you what, there's no shortage at my house. You should see how many bottles we got there. And last stories for all the parents out there. When your teacher says certain things to you, your child's teacher says certain things to you, are they secret code? One TikTok account under the name at board underscore teachers reveals that there's a secret code when a teacher is communicating with you via email.

03:12:55 - 03:13:14 | Speaker 4:

We have a code when we email parents. When we use phrases like your child is very social, that means they won't stop talking or their excitement in the classroom is contagious. It means they will not calm down. or if they're a natural-born leader, your child is super bossy.

03:13:16 - 03:13:25 | Speaker 5:

I love that. So think about that next time that your child's teacher will communicate with you and say stuff to you. The teachers have a little code going with each other.

03:13:25 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 2:

What does it mean when your child says things without zero filter all the time, constantly?

03:13:31 - 03:13:46 | Speaker 5:

That means that your buddies need to stop dating those girls that they talk about. Yeah, probably. All right. We should actually, you know what? That's actually a really funny bit. We should have Cecily, like, screen people for dating here on the show.

03:13:46 - 03:13:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Wouldn't that be great? Oh, I was thinking the bit was we feed her horrible things to say to people in public, and then they turn around. She's a cute little kid. They can't get mad.

03:13:55 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 5:

That's a good idea. Yeah, I will have to pass that by mom and see if Allie's okay with it. Have a great day. If you missed any portion of today's show, go check it out. Oh, real quick, let's highlight what we did on today's show. If you go back to the beginning of the show, hear Shannon talk about how much she thinks that those effing leprechauns have ruined her life, the new elf on the shelf for kids.

03:14:18 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 6:
