We look for as much good in the world as we possibly can with Tell Me Something Good, and we talk through the biggest news stories of the day, and also your biggest and favorite country artists are always stopping by. On the Gulf Coast, check us out on 95KSJ, and lock us in as a preset on the free iHeartRadio app today.

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:01:06 - 00:01:51 | Speaker 1:

My name is Medterica, Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently, even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school. but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm their resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us.

00:01:51 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Anybody ready for the weekend? It's, yes, weekend. Love it, love the weekend. Love it, love it. Yes, okay, it's Mojo in the morning. How are you? We may have to cancel the Friday throwback remix today that we're doing. And I fibbed a little bit saying that Kev didn't want to do it, but I just wanted to see if people are into it. Before we went into a break, I said, hey, does anybody want us to cancel it? Kev wants to not do it. Look at all these phone lines. Oh, my God. We have more phone lines now than we do for a contest. Ruiz and Dana, what are you guys doing together?

00:04:08 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm just doing good.

00:04:13 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 7:

You're just doing good?

00:04:15 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 6:

When you're going to school.

00:04:17 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 7:

Going to school? You want Cav to do the Friday remix today?

00:04:22 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. We be singing the Friday remix with you guys.

00:04:27 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. You're the greatest. Let me hear you.

00:04:29 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 6:

This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show.

00:04:38 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 7:

I love you guys. I love you guys. You guys, we're going to have to have it on for you guys coming up here in a minute, okay? So get ready for it. We love you. Okay. Bye. We'll see you later. Susan, would you like to hear the Friday remix today? I would love to hear the Friday remix.

00:04:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

I know my Friday is not the same with that.

00:05:00 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 3:

and I know a lot of other people's Fridays aren't going to be the same. Yeah, well, you know, Kev likes to take away from little kids like those two little kids that we talked about, you know. We're going to steal their piggy banks today. We're going to make them pay. No, I'm just kidding. Yes, coming up here in just a moment. Oh, my gosh, Kev's family's calling. Cousin Brandy's on the phone.

00:05:18 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 1:

What up, Brandy? Hey, good morning. Good morning, Brandy. Yeah, so first time, long time.

00:05:27 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Brandy on the phone. I'm so jealous. Your family's proud of you. My family never calls in.

00:05:35 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 3:

I love Brandy.

00:05:35 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

I probably wouldn't have called in, but I need that remix.

00:05:39 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

I got you, man. We got it. I got you. Hey, Brandy. Brandy is the biggest Bone Thugs and Harmony fan in the world, so shout out to everybody in Ohio.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 2:

I got that clip you sent me, too. I love you.

00:05:50 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 3:

Then you know what? We got to play some Bone Thugs and Harmony this morning. I'll get some on for you, okay, Brandy?

00:05:55 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

Put it on. I'm listening. He's 99.

00:05:57 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm not wooing that. I feel like there's an extra beat in there. I'm not wooing that. I don't know what happened. You did the same thing last week, something? That's what I'm saying. Are you okay? I feel like it's not me, Shannon.

00:07:37 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

I feel like the beat is off. You're hanging out with white people too much. You're missing the beat.

00:07:41 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

I gotta go to GLB. You're missing the beat.

00:07:45 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Welcome to the white side.

00:07:46 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 3:

No rhythm. We have taken your rhythm away. You're sucking the life. As a matter of fact, the life has just gotten sucked right out of your body.

00:07:56 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

We take your rhythm, we take your soul, your spirits, all hope. Next thing you know, I'm going to start eating cream of celery.

00:08:02 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait. What's the movie? What the hell? Cream of celery. What's the... It's probably going to be like Space Jam. Get Out or whatever? No.

00:08:09 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, somebody give me a teacup and a spoon. I could not watch that movie. This is Get Out right now. Are you kidding me? It was too scary for me. I got about halfway through.

00:08:16 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 3:

You thought that was just a movie? Oh, man. I didn't watch that.

00:08:20 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 4:

You told me to watch it, and I don't like scary movies. And as soon as, like, the housekeeper or whatever appeared, I was like, yeah, no.

00:08:27 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Her eyes. Let me tell you. As soon as they met her parents, I was like, I've met those white people before.

00:08:33 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Can I be honest with you? This has been a week. We've had 30 degrees. We've had 40 degrees. We've had 50 degrees. We've had 60 degrees. We've had 70 degrees. We had snow. We've had. How about that? Can you be honest with me? And I know Megan loves this. You were driving or walking or doing something yesterday, Megan, and you said, this sucks. Come on.

00:08:57 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 2:

No, here's the thing. I like winter when it's winter and I like summer when it's summer. I hate this back and forth. It is winter. It's winter. Hello. It's winter. I love winter. I love a good sweater. Sweater weather. Sweater weather. It's a perfect time of year. I love boots. But as soon as it hits 70 and then goes back to snowing, I'm like, this sucks. Pick a lane.

00:09:21 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

My kids were in bathing suits playing with the hose on their friend's trampoline the day before yesterday. And then yesterday, I'm driving home from here. It starts snowing. I'm like, what in the actual F is happening?

00:09:31 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I literally, it was like blowing snow, freeway snow. I mean, this is, it was craziness. I can't believe that a week ago we were all, or less than a week ago, we were all hanging out. But beautiful Calder Plaza celebrating, you know, a great, you know, Irish off Ionia. Everybody was like wearing short sleeves and having a great time. And now I'm white knuckling, you know, trying to drive. But what's the weather like this weekend? Does it get any?

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

better well today's today is actually gonna have glimpses of 50 well you know we'll take that I agree with the fact that we need to just stay something

00:10:09 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

consistent we're in the 40s for at least the next week and a half like having to layer up like even today for work I had no idea is it gonna be 70 degrees in here is gonna be 50 degrees so you got a tank top you got a shirt you got a

00:10:21 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

jacket you got everything you know what this is this is getting it on the first date, and then she all of a sudden decides that she wants to wait until you guys get married. You know, this has kind of been that moment for me. I don't like it.

00:10:35 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 6:

Is that what happened?

00:10:36 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, pretty much. All right. Friday on Mojo in the Morning always means throwback throwdown, and I'm looking at the board. It's got everybody with the same number on there. We're all tied. We are all tied right now. Everybody's got the same wins, two wins apiece for the year. And here's the interesting thing about the throwback throwdown. The throwback throwdown is one of those things where it's life or death. If you win, you survive. This is Hunger Games, guys. If you lose, you know what? You have a bad weekend. It's going to be a bad. It only makes it worse.

00:11:14 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 4:

Did you see there was a new Hunger Games book this week?

00:11:17 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. It's called the throwback throwdown.

00:11:19 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

That's what I'm doing this weekend.

00:11:21 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to read that book. Oh, reading the book. Boy, that sounds like a boring weekend. I think I'd rather have snow.

00:11:26 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, six best-selling books. Must be a terrible series.

00:11:30 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 5:

Sounds like boring. All right, who's winning the throwback throwdown this morning? We're going to find out coming up at 8 o'clock today.

00:11:36 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 7:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings backing the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:11:45 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 5:

All right, this was the year that John Travolta became very good friends with Idina Menzel.

00:11:51 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

00:12:23 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 1:

00:12:58 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 7:

Testing your memory this early in the morning. This is Mojo's Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:13:04 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 5:

All right, all happened in the same year. It was when John Travolta screwed up Idina Menzel's name.

00:13:09 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

Here to perform the Oscar-nominated, gorgeously empowering song, Let It Go, from the Oscar-winning animated movie Frozen, please welcome the wickedly talented one and only Adele Bazeem. Adele Bazeem.

00:13:24 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

Big song, or I'm sorry, big movie was the interview. Eminem had a cameo in it.

00:13:31 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 3:

Vasectomy, Hector. So you can't get pregnant if I bisexuality wreck you.

00:13:38 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 5:

The big song, Loyal.

00:13:40 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 3:

From Chris Brown.

00:13:43 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 5:

So all this happened in the same year. What year was that? Janelle, what's happening? Hi. Hi, good morning. Good morning. What year was that?

00:13:52 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 6:

2014.

00:13:53 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:13:58 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 6:

Loyal. I was in high school when that song came out.

00:14:00 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 5:

It was the best. I love that song. All right, throwback, throwdown. Who's the artist on that song?

00:14:07 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 6:

That is Lil Wayne and Chris Brown.

00:14:10 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 5:

One more.

00:14:11 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God.

00:14:12 - 00:14:13 | Unknown:

One more.

00:14:15 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 6:

He used to date Kylie Jenner. Oh, Travis?

00:14:21 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 5:

No, Tyga. Tyga. That's all right. That's all right. We take away a point from Kevin because of that. He starts with negative points.

00:14:30 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 3:

Starting with a deficit. That's happened before.

00:14:33 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

00:15:17 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 2:

I mean, when this news came through yesterday, Blake Lively filed to dismiss Justin Baldoni's multimillion-dollar lawsuit as this legal battle stemming from their movie, It Ends With Us, continues. Her lawyer argued that California law prohibits suing victims who make the decision to speak out against sexual harassment or retaliation. And that is what Blake was doing here in accusing her former co-star of not only sexual harassment, but also of launching a social manipulation campaign against her to essentially destroy her reputation. Justin Baldoni has always denied the allegations, by the way. And a side story here. Colleen Hoover, who is the author of the book that this movie is based off of, she now says she is broke because of all of this drama.

00:16:08 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 1:

Saw that my boss, Stephanie, put all of my merch on sale for $10 an item. That's like five times cheaper than what I paid for each item, which means by the end of the day today, I'm going to be broke as s**t.

00:16:25 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 2:

She's been caught in the crosshairs because her and Justin Baldoni were very close when she gave the movie rights to him. Then she sided with Blake Lively at the beginning of all of this mess. Then she removed all signs of both of them from her social media. Then she got off social media and now she's back. Elon Musk's daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, said she doesn't actually know how many half-siblings she has at this point. She is one of as many as 14 kiddos. That word's for Megan. That Elon Musk has created. We think. 14. The 20-year-old model appears on the cover of Teen Vogue. She's beautiful, by the way. And says in the interview inside of the arrival of his newest child, I found out at the same time the rest of the world did. So, could you imagine not truly knowing?

00:17:14 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 4:

How many siblings you have?

00:17:15 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 2:

How many siblings you have not having met any of them?

00:17:18 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, a lot of people do that, you know, the DNA testing stuff, and then they find out that their dad, you know, had a bunch of them. These are, like, openly he's gathered a bunch of people.

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:17:28 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 4:

It's a lot of kids out there somewhere. Oh, my bad. I cut my mic off because I had to blow my nose. The joke's over now. Let's just keep going.

00:17:36 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 2:

All right, all right. If anybody cares on this week's episode.

00:17:38 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 4:

Are you one of Elon's kids? I don't think so.

00:17:41 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 2:

You look just like him. If anybody cares on this week's episode of the Kardashians, Khloe admitting she has not baked cookies in a very, very long time.

00:17:51 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I just haven't been intimate in quite a long time. So we're going back to square one born again. You're obsessed with knowing that I haven't had sex. He loves that I haven't had sex. How long are we talking?

00:18:04 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

Two years.

00:18:05 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 1:

I bet it's been a long time.

00:18:07 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 4:

Why do they all sound the same? Even their mom. Like, they all, Chris and the girls, they all sound the same. Like, if you listen to just audio clips. Is that what it is?

00:18:15 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:18:16 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 4:

They start sounding like each other. Is that what, yeah.

00:18:19 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 3:

The most interesting episode of the season so far has been her and Lamar Odom reuniting. And it was awkward because he's still obsessed with her and she has clearly moved on. And it's weird. And I feel so bad for Khloe. I fully believe that she has not had sex in a long time because I think so many men did her so dirty that she is like i'm good it's closed up yep yeah and for our listeners in the detroit

00:18:45 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 2:

area on channel 955 i want to give you a quick update on the shooting that happened at corwell health toy beaumont hospital yesterday morning during our show the suitor and the victims you guys were like best best friends worked in the radiology department there police said they recently had a falling out i don't know over what i have heard a few different rumors which i'm not going to sit here and talk about because i think relationships misinformation right yeah that's at the root of it but the shooter was arrested at his home in macomb about two hours after that shooting occurred in the parking garage the victim a 25 year old man from troy he is currently being treated for his injuries he's expected to survive police say he was able to tell police exactly who

00:19:26 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

shot him i was watching some of the social media afterwards that people were posting and it was very scary to see you know nurses doctors security people like all these people having to be they ran to like office buildings close or other medical buildings that were close they all had to then get bussed all back to the hospital to do their day because many people had life-threatening procedures that they need to get done yeah and that's the scary part there's a there were people that were there in the hospital when you go and get like an open heart surgery or you get like any kind of a surgical thing you have to be at the hospital like four o'clock five

00:19:59 - 00:20:29 | Unknown:

00:20:23 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 2:

on the show i uh would like to have uh a little impromptu survey done uh and this is uh also to end an argument that uh that we uh were having yesterday um is flirting with someone cheating okay is flirting with someone cheating i saw this stat and then i was having this conversation just randomly with my wife going oh this is an interesting one maybe i'll bring this up as a topic is flirting with someone cheating and she's her cancer goes if that was the case would be divorced a long time ago and i'm like wait a second hold on are you saying that i flirt with people and she said there is not a person i don't flirt with she actually was telling me she goes the one thing i love about you is you don't discriminate though it doesn't make a difference what they look like they will get flirted with by me as long as they got a pulse if they got a Paul, actually, sometimes I go beyond alive and breathing. I've sat, you know, kneeled down in front of a casket before, and I said, wow, you look good today. That's amazing.

00:21:27 - 00:21:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's cheating, but I do think it's improper.

00:21:30 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 7:

That is exciting. My answer is going to be, I don't think it's cheating, but I think it could be very hurtful.

00:21:36 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 2:

All right, so Megan, thoughts? Is flirting cheating? You're a big flirt.

00:21:42 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 6:

I want to say no. Okay. Because I do flirt with everybody. You are. You're a good flirt. But I also don't think my flirting is very intentional because the people I'm actually interested in, I refuse to flirt with. All right. You know what I mean?

00:21:56 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 7:

Like, if I found out that Wes was flirting with somebody, like actively, intentionally flirting, then yes, it's cheating to me.

00:22:03 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 6:

But I'd be pissed if that happened to me. I get it. Like, I think I'm very hypocritical on it.

00:22:08 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 2:

Not always do you flirt to have sex with somebody. You flirt to make somebody feel good and sometimes make yourself feel good. 51% said that they might dump you for it. 51% of Americans said that they might dump you, especially if they felt like you were trying to hide it or you were betraying their trust with the flirting. This is interesting. 60% said chatting with an ex is over the line too without telling your significant other. Yeah, don't be doing that. 23% said finding out that their partner was watching porn is cheating. No, I don't agree with that. And 66% also said that they wouldn't care if they found out that you were dancing with somebody else, while the others said that they think dancing with another person would be cheating.

00:22:57 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 3:

It depends on the dance, though. If she bent over twerking on somebody, what are you doing?

00:23:03 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 2:

But what would you do if you found out that your girl or your guy goes out on a girl or guy's weekend, and they're hanging out at a club, and they're dancing with another guy or girl? Would that bother you?

00:23:14 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 3:

It would bother me.

00:23:15 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 2:

It would.

00:23:16 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 3:

Yep. You're jealous a lot. Is it dependent upon the type of dance or just any dance?

00:23:20 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 7:

If they're swing dancing.

00:23:22 - 00:23:23 | Speaker 3:

If they're waltzing.

00:23:23 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 7:

If they're swing dancing with, you know. Line dancing. Ernie, I'm good. I guess for him with Edna, I'm good.

00:23:32 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 2:

The Cupid Shuffle, by the way, could be very sexual.

00:23:35 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 6:

I think I'm realizing in this topic, though, that I'm the problem because I believe in emotional cheating, but I don't think what I do is inappropriate. But if it happened to me, I'd be paced.

00:23:44 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Laura, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:23:47 - 00:24:18 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning. I honestly say that if you do anything with anybody, you find just the slightest bit attractive. Like, whether you've just met them, whether you know them, regardless of what it is, it is cheating. I also agree with, like, if you watch porn, that is cheating when you're in a relationship. you're turning to other people for sexual pleasure for emotional like connections for all these other things and people fail to realize that and it does put stress and strain on and

00:24:18 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

you have to hide it a lot of times people hide what they're watching of it yeah clear that bro boy laura that's a very interesting comment to make what's up whitney how you doing

00:24:27 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 5:

hey so i definitely i i used to be the one that say oh cheating uh flirting is friendly but i think you have to look at it in certain situations a certain perspective like i just started a new job and it's a guy there that's been flirting with me for the past two weeks he compliments me touches my hair tells me how pretty it is oh no he's married i just thought he's married oh no And I just think if his wife was here, he wouldn't be doing that. Exactly.

00:24:56 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, if you wouldn't do it in front of your significant other, or if you're keeping it a...

00:25:00 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 3:

secret like the first two points that you made mojo in that survey yeah were had like the caveat of and and your significant other didn't know then to me it's whitney you are gonna have an

00:25:11 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 2:

awkward christmas party this year when that wife walks in and you say how does my hair look honey

00:25:15 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 3:

you got to say that to him flip it around you're gonna get punched

00:25:20 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 2:

derek what's up it's mojo in the morning what's going on

00:25:23 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

yeah i just feel like it opens the door for more so it's like it starts out as flirting but you're telling somebody you're interested so it's just open the door for uh it's a progress once you

00:25:36 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 2:

how about this is opening the door for a woman cheating i mean not in the midwest that's just politeness yeah but but you're right though anytime you open up the door you're planting a

00:25:48 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 1:

It's a seed. It's a gateway.

00:25:49 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 2:

Olivia, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:25:52 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 3:

I think, you know, it's like I'm flirtatious by nature.

00:25:56 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:25:57 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 3:

But it's all about intent, you know?

00:25:59 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:26:00 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 3:

And being secure in your partner. And, you know, you have to know your audience. Like, oh, you can throw one. It's not going to take it like, oh, they want to do something with who you can have fun with.

00:26:09 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Can I ask a question? Where does that sexy accent of yours come from?

00:26:14 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 3:

i am originally from panama and then i lived in new york city for 15 years so it's all messed up

00:26:20 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 2:

Disney's live-action remake of Snow White hits theaters today. What's the name of the villain in this fairy tale?

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:31:36 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. Three. Two. I have no idea.

00:31:41 - 00:31:42 | Unknown:

One.

00:31:42 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 1:

Never saw Snow White? Not that I remember.

00:31:46 - 00:31:46 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:31:46 - 00:34:45 | Speaker 1:

The Evil Queen. We've got a new champion in the five at 655. Nina. You've never seen Snow White? He's back with us next week. I can't remember. I probably did when I was a little girl, but that was 30 years ago. Snow White, you may know them by The Seven Dwarfs. Also her nephews. They stole the show. Right? Yeah, I have nephews. I don't even have nieces or daughters. I would have never watched Snow White. Congratulations to Nina on a big win, Nina. That was a big one. Flu game. Thank you. We're going to start Monday with a new champion. So, Nina, we'll be talking to you bright and early on Monday morning, okay? Good job, Dana. Sounds good. And we got a parting gift for you, Rochelle. You were great. I appreciate you being out with us. We'll set you up with some Panda Express. Thank you to Panda Express for all this week. Sponsoring the 5 at 655. It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 at 655. 5, 5. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Mornings. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. Do us a favor. If you call us and you are a first time, long time, tell us that you are and we'll shout you out on the radio. And then if you're somebody that is sending us a text and your text is really good, more than likely, we're going to call you. And you should pick up your phone and say, hello, Lydia. and then she may ask you to go on the radio. And if you don't feel comfortable with your regular voice, we can always voice this, guys. So there's lots of different things that you can do. I had a really rough morning. I was running early. I actually had a good day in the fact that this happened to me on a day that I was running early. I got one of those days going where I started daydreaming in the middle of my drive. So my drive is about a 50-minute drive as I drive in from the northwestern suburbs of Detroit to downtown Detroit and while I'm driving and I'm on the lodge I randomly just started going lollygagging a little bit and this happened to me and I'm bringing this up because I would love to know if you've ever had this happen to you I took the wrong exit and I ended up instead of taking 75 south I ended up taking 75 north okay And when I got on, I realized almost too late that I was on the wrong free. I'm like, wait, this doesn't look right. Like I started, and then I noticed the Michigan train central or whatever the hell that thing is, you know, the place that we went on and the tour of and stuff. What is it called? Michigan Central Station. Michigan Central Station. And I'm like, I normally don't see it from this angle. Usually I see it on my right.

00:34:45 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't see it on my left usually. This is when I start to panic. And I started panicking. And I had, oh, crack, what do I do? So I had to like, you know, and I ended up putting my GPS then on going, oh, my God, I got to figure out a way to turn around. And it kind of turned me and flipped me. and did all kinds of goofy stuff to me. And then I found myself, ready for this one, in a weirdest spot ever. And this is where I bring this up because I want to know if this has ever happened to anybody. Has anybody ever almost mistakenly gone to Canada by accident?

00:35:16 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you, this is my biggest fear. Oh, my God.

00:35:22 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 1:

Because at the point that I had to turn around, I ended up turning around kind of right by the Michigan Central. But there was two ways I could go. One way was to go on side streets. The other way was it said, last exit. And it was basically saying, stop or you are going to end up getting tariffed.

00:35:42 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 2:

You can't turn around.

00:35:44 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 1:

You are not going to go anywhere good here. You're going to get yourself into trouble. You're going to actually be stopped by a guy wearing a funny little outfit. You're going to say, wait a second, sir. That's an interesting looking uniform.

00:35:54 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

We obviously go to Canada a lot with Wes being Canadian and his family being there. And Kev, you're right. There are a lot of warnings. And then there is a point of no return where you cannot turn around.

00:36:08 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

But that's my thing. Like, say I go past the point of no return. Obviously, I didn't plan to go to Canada. I don't just travel every day with my passport. Right. What happens?

00:36:16 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 4:

So you have to go through customs. They have to look everything up. You're detained. and then they have to write you paperwork to turn around to get back in through like American customs. So you're there for a bit? Let me tell you though, it was my biggest fear before I had a passport was accidentally going to Canada. And when I got a passport because we went on vacation years ago, I was like, oh, do I need the card? I asked my dad, because you know you can get a book and a card. And my dad was like, get the card, put it in your wallet, stop fearing Canada. And I have driven with my passport ever since so that if I accidentally hit that exit,

00:36:49 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 1:

So it's the card passport then, right? Because I have my driver's license, but it's a real ID, so I think I can go in and out with that. So I think I'm okay with that. Yes. That special ID thing you were talking about.

00:37:00 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Now that I live in downtown Detroit, it's actually easier for me to do some of my shopping in Canada than it is going out to the burbs. And I do it all the time with my passport card.

00:37:09 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, let me tell you, at 5, 12 in the morning-ish, something like that, I'm going, my butt puckered.

00:37:17 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's panic-inducing. I would have laughed so hard if you called us during our morning pre-show meeting and said, I am in Windsor.

00:37:27 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 2:

I've seen him in front of a Tim Hortons.

00:37:28 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to get you some real Tim Hortons, not the crap they serve here.

00:37:32 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 1:

I honestly was at a point where I'm like, you're never going to believe this, guys, but I'm in Canada.

00:37:38 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah?

00:37:39 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Shelby, you accidentally went to Canada?

00:37:44 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 6:

I did. I was 16, and I had just gotten my license. and the I was in Port Huron and the GPS was like oh turn left in a thousand feet and I have no idea how much a thousand feet is when I'm driving right and um I saw a car turning so I turned and I it was a one-way like as soon as you turn there you're going to Canada and I'm like panicking I barely know how to drive and I get there and they were so mean to me I was like a hundred pounds bawling my eyes out 16 year old girl and they had me get out going to the customs building they searched my car with dogs really um yep and then i got a paper saying rejected by immigration

00:38:27 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 1:

and then they would let me go back oh my god they rejected you yeah does that feel like the same rejection when a guy rejects you do you feel that same way uh why are they so mean

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 6:

The whole country rejected me.

00:38:40 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, but are people that mean to the Canadians? Because I'll tell you, they are mean people. It's kind of like my feeling towards Ohio State Troopers compared to Michigan State Troopers. What's up, Shay?

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

00:38:53 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:38:54 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 5:

So, we were going to Johnny Noodle King, and I don't know what I did. Somehow I missed it. I had GPS on me.

00:39:00 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

You were going. I'm sorry. Where were you going? Stop for a second. Where the hell were you going?

00:39:04 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 5:

Johnny Noodle King.

00:39:05 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 1:

What the hell is Johnny Noodle King?

00:39:07 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. You guys have to go there. It's under the bridge. It's a ramen place. It's amazing.

00:39:11 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Johnny Noodle King. Oh, yeah. All right.

00:39:14 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 5:

It's a whole experience. Yeah. It's so good.

00:39:17 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:39:18 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 5:

So, anyway, so we were going there, and somehow I freaking missed it, and I don't know what I did, but it's a whole ordeal. You get on there, and once you're on the exit, you're in Canada. They consider you, and that is Canada's Canadian property. So, you get up there, and you can't just turn around. Nope. You got to go into the store, the customs thing. Like the other girl said, you got to go in there, sign some papers. They didn't search me or anything, but I had my kids with me. So they're probably just like, oh, this lady's dumb. So I went in and had to sign papers. And it's really degrading. Then they have to have some sheriff go and open the gate, like a separate area, and let you out, like, the back door. Oh, jeez. You know what's funny?

00:40:00 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Lucky back in the country.

00:40:01 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 2:

We used to do a thing called, well, we still call it Naughty Moms Night Out, but we used to do it over in Canada in a place called Danny's in Windsor. It was a male strip club. And one year we had it sponsored by one of the biggest companies, Pure Romance. And they gave every woman a special edition mojo in the morning vibrator. And they gave it to them on the bus. They told us to take all of our belongings out. They wanted to search us. Every woman made those Canadian dudes feel so weird when they leaned it over.

00:40:31 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 3:

They were like, why did we pull over this bus?

00:40:33 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 2:

It was crazy. Javon, what's up, Javon?

00:40:37 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 4:

Matt, first time caller. Hey, Javon on the phone. What, what? I was going to Port Huron, first time ever going to Port Huron, and I took the wrong exit and made a mistake. It turned right and went into Canada. These guys had me over there for three hours in custody.

00:41:02 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 2:

What did they do, man?

00:41:04 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 4:

I was so nervous.

00:41:05 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:41:06 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 4:

I was so nervous because I had a little bud in the car.

00:41:10 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Yeah.

00:41:12 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 4:

I ended up having to just throw it out the window, of course, but they ended up letting us go or whatever, but we were stuck in custody for three hours.

00:41:19 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Three hours. That's crazy. I bet you at some point you think that all of a sudden you're now part of the country. I used to live in Tucson, Arizona, and in Tucson, Arizona, you're right up against the border, Nogales, Mexico. And I remember we were almost drove the station vehicle over to Mexico by accident. We got in the wrong lane and we were going down to do a border giveaway or something like that, like something right on the border. And that's that was like one of those ones, because it was like, at least we speak Canadian. I mean, we speak English, right?

00:41:52 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 1:

Why is it that serious, though, where you just can't turn around? Like, why do you have to be held up for three hours while they try to figure this out? Right.

00:41:59 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Because they think that something, you know, they're very particular. It's like going into the airport, like a TSA line, you know? Three hours ago.

00:42:04 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 3:

But if you're turning around, you're not even trying to enter the country. Like, they have to know that you were like, oops, I, you know, wasn't paying attention.

00:42:12 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

If you get up to the booth, there's really nowhere to turn around except for getting up and then going back sometimes.

00:42:16 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 3:

That's why I feel like maybe that needs to change. Yeah.

00:42:19 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Emma, Emma almost had this happen to her through the tunnel. If you've never been in Detroit, the one way you can go is through a tunnel. What's going on, Emma?

00:42:29 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I, me and my friend were driving downtown, and we're from Essex, so not like near, like just outside of Windsor. And she hadn't driven down there too often because it was like we knew we just got our licenses and stuff. and she was driving and she kind of like panicked and she was like oh I have to turn here and I was like I don't think so and we drove right into the tunnel and we were like oh my god what do we do and the guy from um the toll booth was like well you're gonna have to go through one of the customs things and like explain what happened because I can't just like let you turn around right here so we started to panic I'm not even thinking we get up there they're like do you have your passports. We're like, no, we have our IDs though. I went into my purse to get my ID and I then remembered I had pot brownies in my purse that we were going to take down at the river.

00:43:19 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why do you have pot brownies? Oh, okay. I didn't hear you. Sorry.

00:43:24 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 5:

I was reaching in to grab my ID and I went, oh my God, if we get pulled in, I have to eat both of these in hopes that I live. Or do you slowly hand it over and just wink at the officer? Yeah, I mean, I was 17, so maybe that would have worked and been like, I'm so sorry I made a big mistake.

00:43:46 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

That is so scary, isn't it? It's like one of those things where if you ever get pulled over by a cop and you have had, you know, maybe a pot brownie or two or you have something in your car. Like, I remember one time driving and I was going over to a buddy's house and I brought up a bottle of tequila that was like half open and I didn't drink it in the car at all. I was just bringing it over to his house. The whole time, I'm like, oh, please don't look in the back seat. Oh, please don't look in the back seat.

00:44:10 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 3:

So I've done that before, too. Like, if my girlfriend, Lindsay, invites me over, I'm like, oh, I have a half-drinking, drunk, a half-filled bottle of wine on the counter. So I just put it in the cup holder in, like, the third row. Are you even allowed to be driving with that?

00:44:25 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Cops need to call us and tell us.

00:44:27 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

I thought if you couldn't reach it, it was fine. That's my mindset. So I think, okay, if it's all the way back there, they know I'm not chugging and drinking at the same time, right? But what's to keep you from just throwing it back there when you get... I mean, I truly put it in the cup holder so it doesn't roll around. I don't know. I do want to know the answer to that.

00:44:44 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 2:

Is there a cop in the house? Is there a cop listening? Sometimes we need to have, like, the legal expert cops that can tell us that stuff.

00:44:50 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 3:

Or is that, like, up to discretion?

00:44:52 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, that's a good question. Can you find somebody on the phone that's a police officer that can tell us?

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 1:

Can you tell us that if you have just the thing in your car?

00:45:02 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 2:

Does it need to be in the trunk?

00:45:03 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 1:

Is it driving with an open, you know, what is it called? Container. Open container.

00:45:09 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:45:10 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 1:

God, a lot of stuff that's coming up here.

00:45:12 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

And if it's illegal, I've never done it before. I was just making up that story to have an interesting question. Statute of limitations.

00:45:19 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 1:

That happened 20 years ago. Coming up after the dirty, Shannon with found out at the parent-teacher conference. She was texting me yesterday about her kids, Lucy's and Smith's parent-teacher conferences. Boy, isn't it fun to have a boy and have a girl. It's the best. And then right after that, right after that, Kevin with The Craziest Place You've Thrown Up. So you might want to eat your breakfast before you end up listening to that topic that's coming up. And then the throwback throwdown. We have not heard from Kevin in a win in a while. He started off two wins on the new year. and then has done 0.0 since then. 0.0. Will he get back on the winning track today, or is this the dry spell that will keep him out of the playoffs? It's a long year, guys. We're going to find out this morning on Mojo in the Morning. What's up, George? Hi.

00:46:20 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo? Yeah, I'm a truck driver, and it definitely is illegal to have an open container, even though they live down there. It's still considered an open container.

00:46:28 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 1:

Really? So as a truck driver, you have the legal, you're our legal expert on this one here tonight.

00:46:35 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know a lot of state police. I talk to them daily to make sure I don't get in violation of any way to keep my license clear. Okay. I always know all about the legal stuff.

00:46:44 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 1:

Good to know. So are you saying then that Shannon is committing illegal crimes just driving where she probably could have walked over to a friend's house, in the neighbor's house?

00:46:57 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 3:

She can get a $500 fine for it.

00:47:00 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:47:00 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:47:01 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 1:

George, here's another question for you. Can you get a DUI on your kid's little bicycle if you drive that bicycle over there? Because that will be the next step of something that she'll do to go back and forth.

00:47:13 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 3:

It's actually you can get a DUI for being on a bike even if you're an adult.

00:47:16 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 1:

Are you serious? I was just kidding.

00:47:18 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm dead serious. I know you were, but I'm dead serious. You can look it up.

00:47:21 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 1:

I've always wanted, one of the things I always wanted to do is live, like, in one of those neighborhoods that's built around a golf course. Because I always thought it would be kind of fun to have a golf cart where you could drive your golf cart to and from, like, you know, places and just get drunk. But I wonder if you can get. You can get DUI on that as well. You can get a DUI probably in that then, too. Yes, you can.

00:47:44 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 3:

Megan, you can do that in Ohio, right? Drive a golf cart downtown?

00:47:47 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 1:

I feel like you said that before.

00:47:48 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes. With a license plate, right? Yeah, they're, like, legal vehicles if you get them registered. Do they have a little license plate?

00:47:55 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is Nicole wants to be our legal expert because this is the greatest reason. Tell everybody the reasoning of why you think you can legally answer this for us.

00:48:02 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 5:

Because I've hated enough criminals.

00:48:05 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:48:06 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 5:

Most definitely. I have, like, a bad case in men, douchebag detector.

00:48:11 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like that.

00:48:12 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 5:

Like, the longer the criminal sheets, the better the hotter they are. I don't know.

00:48:16 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 1:

You know what? There is something to that.

00:48:17 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 5:

It's definitely an open container. And, like, anything more than walking is a DUI.

00:48:23 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 1:

What about Shannon putting it in her third row like she does? She thinks that putting it away back there. That's no big container.

00:48:28 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 5:

As long as it's open and less than the trust, it's no big container.

00:48:32 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so then why do restaurants then, like, I've been to a fancy restaurant where they'll cork the wine that you didn't finish for a fee and let you bring it home. So how is that allowed if you can't even have it in your car to drive home?

00:48:44 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

It's technically not. I'd like to loophole where the cops, if they're there and they want to pull you over and be a jerk, they'll give you a ticket. Wow. Hey, remember during COVID when you could get margaritas? Yes. And they would just put it in a plastic cup.

00:48:57 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 2:

Yes. There were a lot of restaurants that did that.

00:49:01 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm going to tell you something right now. I think if the cops are listening, she would look good in cuffs right now. So if there are any cops listening, we need to know that Shannon did something very illegal. This audio here.

00:49:13 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 2:

20 years ago. I mean, never.

00:49:16 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 6:

This is your favorite president, Donald Trump. There's a lot of talk about tariffs, except for the people listening in Windsor. You're in luck. There's no tariff on listening to Mojo in the morning. It's free. Doesn't even cost a loonie or a toonie. It's totally free. Mojo, charging fast toward the end of the show. Man boobs bouncing at all. This is Mojo in the Morning.

shannon what you kicking the hour off with so i first want to give a shout out to somebody that i ran into yesterday and when i say ran into i mean that very literally i ran into her several times by accident at whole foods while i was doing some grocery shopping listener lucy who calls our show all the time yeah she's an adult lucy um and she is so wonderful and we ended up chatting for like 10 or 15 minutes in an aisle the random cereal aisle yesterday so hi lucy it was really

00:50:51 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 4:

nice to meet you and why is she in the dirty today what i just wanted to say hi to her act

00:50:55 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 1:

or a criminal thing that you do or scandal? You know what? Unfortunately, she seems pretty normal to me.

00:51:00 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 4:

Is she?

00:51:01 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:51:01 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't think...

00:51:02 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 1:

But it was one of those situations where every time I turned to the corner, I was running into her, and finally I was like, I'm so sorry, this is not targeted.

00:51:10 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 4:

I always think that they think I'm stalking them or something. You know, you feel like it's weird. Yeah. Maybe she needs to call us up and tell us that Shannon truly was stalking.

00:51:20 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 1:

I swear I wasn't.

00:51:22 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:51:22 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so one of the world's busiest airports is currently shut down and that is London's Heathrow Airport. It's going to be closed all day today after a fire at an electrical substation caused a power outage. So the airport was anticipating upwards of like 290,000 passengers moving through that place today. A total of 1,351 flights. Those are all not happening. So this is going to affect travel globally today. You're going to hear a lot about that.

00:51:52 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 4:

And this is one of those times of year, too. It's spring break time. So there's a lot of people taking spring break vacations in the United States going to Europe. So this is going to be really interesting.

00:52:02 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Jay-Z and Beyonce may take legal action after Kanye West attacked their twins in a rant on X earlier this week. We talked about this yesterday. He was mocking Rumi and Sir's intelligence, their mental capacity. They're, what, seven years old, I think. So I am hearing mixed things about this. One source telling me that Beyonce and Jay-Z are not happy that Ye has spoken out about their kids in such a vulgar and offensive manner. But another person is telling me, yeah, they're upset, but they have no plans on publicly addressing Kanye's posts about their kids. So I don't know which it is, but not happy.

00:52:44 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 3:

No one wins when the family feuds.

00:52:46 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 4:

how are you gonna how is your life gonna be in that case that's gonna be horrible because

00:52:53 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 3:

you have such love for both of these all true i think the worst thing that's come out of all of this over the past years is that us kanye fans as jay-z fans as rap fans are never gonna get a

00:53:07 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 4:

watch the throne too and that makes me sad you know it is uh it is interesting it's uh for uh For me, it kind of reminds me like when your favorite TV show breaks up because somebody doesn't like, you know, like the other person.

00:53:23 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 1:

Kobe and Shaq. Sex and the City. Oh, Samantha. Oh, I know. I'm still hung up on that one. Oh, Samantha. That's how old I am. All right, March Madness is underway. And last night during Georgia's 89-68 loss to Gonzaga, one other player was called out for a little fashion. Oopsie.

00:53:39 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 4:

What team was he on?

00:53:43 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 1:

Georgia.

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 4:

Georgia.

00:53:44 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm sorry for, I had to think about Dakota LeFue, I think is his last name, is how you say it. Was wearing his shorts backwards?

00:53:51 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 2:

LeFue's got his shorts on backwards.

00:53:53 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm so sorry to point that out.

00:53:56 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Things just didn't start well, right, for Georgia today.

00:54:01 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 1:

And everything feels a little backwards for him right now. He had to know, right?

00:54:06 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the other story that's big yesterday, Shannon, about the McNeese State kid?

00:54:10 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so their manager has gone viral in a matter of, like, 18 hours. Who is this kid?

00:54:17 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 4:

So he's the boombox kid. So he goes and brings the team onto the court with a big old boombox, and he is the only team manager that has an NIL deal he sponsored.

00:54:27 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I saw that.

00:54:29 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

How about this? This is the McNeese cheerleaders. Their socks are the face of the manager, Amir Khan. Now, that's incredible. Well, this guy, he's got it all going. He's got it all. He's got it all going. He's taking pictures in the stands during the game. Now, Lapp, if he was your manager.

00:54:47 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 4:

He's got kind of a character side to him. He's a young kind of goofy kid and in the locker room at the end of the game.

00:54:54 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Your McNeese Cowboys just pulled it off. They beat Clemson. What were you thinking? What were you thinking?

00:55:00 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 5:

thinking as that clock went to zero uh we got our first one in school history you know so uh mcniece is the hometown school and you know for us to get a win in march madness you know what was the boombox blast in pregame yeah no switch by nba young boy will that be back saturday or they'll be up again you know we really don't know you know everything we do is

00:55:21 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 7:

they're interviewing the team manager the team manager is getting post-game interviews more

00:55:28 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 4:

than the players are with wild wings here here here we go it's all our sponsorships i'm a big

00:55:36 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 5:

fan too you know so for me to have this it means a lot it's what is it like being it's amazing that

00:55:41 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 7:

usually these team managers are the forgotten ones and when we talked to tom izzo a couple weeks back he shouted out the team managers because these kids give up their vacations they give up pretty much their life for this these teams and these players who are making all this money and somebody was saying since the college players started making money with these nil deals a lot of them are giving money to the team managers thanking them for all the stuff

00:56:07 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 6:

that's cool yeah to answer your question mcneese state university is in louisiana and to add more color accepting rates is 71 graduation average cost after 18 000 i like it and lastly benny

00:56:22 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 2:

blanco in the dirty this morning he says he now classifies himself as an official swifty

00:56:27 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 7:

really is this the guy's a swifty trying to get that feature let's do it i wasn't like a true

00:56:34 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 3:

swifty until i was no i didn't know and now i'm like now i'm like i'll be like put that song on how's that one go again and like we're in the car and i'm like wow i'm just like singing taylor swift songs from like 10 years ago and i'm like feel free i feel free benny and selena making

00:56:48 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 2:

an appearance on Hot Ones in an episode that was posted yesterday. By the way, their joint album I Said I Love You first drops today. And then on Fallon last night, they were talking about how

00:56:59 - 00:57:25 | Speaker 1:

Selena almost missed her own proposal. I woke up and I was very confused on what was happening on where we were going because it seemed kind of far. So I'm kind of a little grumpy. I'm like, I really am tired this is too far so that I tell him I say after this shoot I'm gonna go hang out with my friends and he starts I guess going uh okay sure we'll you know we'll see when you get

00:57:25 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 4:

here and you're freaking out like don't ruin my moment of course I'm freaking out she was mad she almost didn't even come she was like she was like I really don't feel that well I think I'm just gonna stay home today can't we just make up the shoot another day and I was like uh and I'm like

00:57:36 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 7:

trying to figure out a way to do it why does she always seem so tired she always uh sounds

00:57:41 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 2:

She has an illness, lupus.

00:57:43 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 7:

Is that from the lupus? She always sounds like she's so, so tired.

00:57:47 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I think that's just her because I watched an interview that she posted of herself auditioning for something.

00:57:52 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 6:

And she was like that too?

00:57:52 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 2:

And she's just, that's...

00:57:54 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 6:

It's kind of mellow?

00:57:55 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's just mellow.

00:57:56 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 6:

They sound alike, or is that just me?

00:57:58 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 2:

They do. I like them together. It's weird, but I like them. They're very cute. All right, for all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast. You can search Mojo in the Morning in the totally free iHeart video app.

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Tate.

00:58:24 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 7:

We have a bunch of good prizes, too, next week, so make sure that you're listening to Mojo in the Morning all next week as we continue with winning tickets to the biggest concerts. And then opening day is coming up for the Tigers. We're going to have tickets for that. And I know that the Mud Hens got their opening day next week, too, so maybe we can get some tickets for that, too. So congratulations, Angela, on this hour's winning. Angela, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Angela, are you a fan? I am. Let's get you some tickets. Let's give you some Tate McCray tickets, all right?

00:59:02 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 6:

Yay, thank you. I'm so excited.

00:59:05 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 4:

Kev, that sounded like the saddest birthday party. Just one little horn.

00:59:10 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 6:

When it stands alone, it's not exciting.

00:59:13 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 7:

Congratulations, Angela. A pair of tickets sold out. Tate McCray concert coming in August, okay? Have a great time.

00:59:22 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

00:59:22 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. Hang on one second, okay? We'll get you set up with that. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. A lot of parents are experiencing this right now. This is the time of the year where you find out that your kids are either very smart or maybe acting up or maybe not so smart. Who knows? I don't know. But you had parent-teacher conferences yesterday?

00:59:42 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 2:

I did, yes. And I had Lucy's conference first. And Luce is doing awesome. Like, actually, her teacher made me cry just talking about how I think it's the best, one of the best compliments that you can get to hear that your daughter is joyous. and brings joy to other people and she's like look at all of her assignments they're all colorful she's happy even if something's you know off in the class she tries to bring a positive spin to it and I I'm so emotional too that she's going into middle school next year and this was my last parent teacher conference at the school for her so of course I'm sitting there crying but you

01:00:19 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 1:

know what's doing great to stop you for one second that's incredible that's a reflection on on you and her dad that that's and that's what I said to her

01:00:26 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 2:

teacher i said you know especially going back and forth between houses you worry a little bit so to hear that just made me so darn so happy can we get some applause for lucy yes we can can we do that

01:00:38 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 1:

please how about big applause how about concert screaming applause those are all lucy's friends cheering her on all right go ahead and then i go downstairs

01:00:53 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 2:

and you know how like mojo you know this kev you know this when you're waiting for your turn to go into the classroom usually they've got stuff displayed on the bulletin boards outside and everybody did the same project and you're trying to look and see which which project is your child's And I can tell right away that the one with the most minimal effort is my sweet little boy. But I go in and, man, do I have two totally different kids.

01:01:31 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though?

01:01:32 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 2:

The one takeaway.

01:01:34 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:01:34 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

The one takeaway from Smith's conference is his teacher, who I love. Shout out to Heidi, if you're listening. um was like you know when everybody else comes to the carpet and we're you know getting ready to do a lesson smith would rather learn by laying on the counter you know what the funny part is she said this is what i love about her she said usually i just kind of let kids do whatever they want if that's how they learn and truly he gets 10 out of 10 on all his little math papers he can read above expected for his grade level so he's he's good there and she's like i was fine with it until all of a sudden this week all of the kids wanted to learn by laying on

01:02:27 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 1:

the couch you know what uh shout out to that teacher because that's cool that she's allowing

01:02:33 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 2:

the kids to be able to as long as they're doing great fun moments you know yeah that to me

01:02:42 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 1:

that that's incredible like that she she does that i love when i first off you were texting back and forth because you were uh giving me the joke about that yesterday and i was going back and forth with you i think that it's so great you have kids that are not the same kid you know like nobody's the same person right we may have the same dna but we're all different in different ways yeah but also i think it's great when you have the parent teacher conferences on the same day to then see what it's like yeah fact i walked out of her classroom i was like

01:03:15 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

i immediately texted my ex-husband i was like sue what are we gonna do about this

01:03:22 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 1:

844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i find it fun to live vicariously through our listeners and hearing the stories of what did you learn at a parent-teacher conference would probably be very fun calls. So if you want to share with us, like, what did you learn there? I was texting you and I shared with you that I will never forget going to parent-teacher conferences for Jacob, who is like the kid that is always doing really good in our family. He's like the only one that, like, consistently, like, they're all good. And I remember going to his parent-teacher conference at Notre Dame Prep and every teacher was like, why are you here? And I'm like, it's parent-teacher conferences. And they were like, yeah, but you really don't need to be. They were basically telling me, you don't need to do it. And then the opposite end of that one was Luke, who also went to Notre Dame Prep Marist Academy. When he was in Marist Academy, and the teacher didn't know who he was, Chelsea and I had to show her a picture of him to say, this is Luke. And she was kind of folding, going through the thing. And I'm like, actually, that's a win. I said, hold on. You're not causing problems. That's a win. Yeah.

01:04:30 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 2:

He's not causing problems. He's not being sent to the office. Right. She would know the name.

01:04:35 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Flying under the radar. That was like one of those moments where it's like such a cool thing. I used to, as a kid, wait at home for my mom and dad to walk through the door praying that they walked in with a smile on their face after parent-teacher conferences. Because our conferences were never day conferences. They were always, for some reason, at night when we were kids. Yeah. That I remember. So it used to be 6 p.m. When people used to get off work. I used to be so scared going to Pinterest conferences sometimes.

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 7:

My mom, she'd be like, dog, please, let's just not go. Because it's about to be LA and I don't want to get in trouble. I used to be bad. I used to get suspended a lot. Did you really? I got put out a couple schools. What?

01:05:11 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 6:

Why does that not surprise me?

01:05:12 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. I told this. I don't know if I can say this. Remember DX, the wrestling group, WWE? No. They used to have a group called DX. And they used to be green and black. That was like their outfits. Triple X was in it. China was in it. Okay, okay. And they used to do this thing called suck it, where after they would kick you or something like that. And I got double promoted in one school, moved to another school, and they put me in what was supposedly my new class of fourth grade. Within a week, they demoted me back to third grade. And it was these two girls that used to just tease me, third grade, third grade, third grade. And I just got fed up one day by the tennis court and was like, suck my hair. And then I just did that. I did the sign like 50 times. That was too much. Among other things, I got expelled.

01:05:54 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 6:

By the way, we'll have parent-teacher conferences at the end of the show. Kelly, what's going on? Hi.

01:06:00 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So you think it's pretty busy with the couple kids. I have four kids that I have to do parent-teacher conference for. Oh, my gosh. I schedule it all in the same day just because it's so much easier, but I'm running up and down the halls just like I was back in school myself.

01:06:15 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 6:

I can only imagine.

01:06:17 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I have three girls, one boy. And, as always, my girls' conferences are, oh, my gosh, they were so sweet. They were sharing with their friends. and I get such great compliments. And then I go to my son's conference and it's complete opposite. Apparently, he's beatboxing and humming during testing time and not realizing he's doing it. So that was interesting to find out this year. I was like, I'm sorry, what did you say? He hums during tests. And sometimes some of the kids will like hum along with him. I'm like, okay.

01:06:53 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 6:

Don't squash his personality. that's a great personality there yeah uh thanks for the call what's up carolyn hi

01:07:00 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 2:

hi good morning what's going on uh first uh first time long time okay so quick story back in so i feel bad for my parents right so i'm like typically a really good kid elementary school love to learn great third grade i started going to school without a snack because I started giving them away to other people who didn't have sex. So I was still hungry. So what did I do? I decided to start eating paper. About three weeks later, I got the whole class eating paper for our snack time.

01:07:39 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 6:

So did they have to call your parents and tell your parents about that?

01:07:44 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 2:

It was right around parent-teacher conference. So my mom thought they were going to go in and have a great conference. And then my teacher was very concerned that I started eating paper. It tasted like salt, so I thought it was great.

01:07:55 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 6:

There's a lot of fiber. It's good, though.

01:07:57 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 2:

You're like a mini cult leader.

01:08:00 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Lat, what's up?

01:08:03 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm on for the first time, long time. Hey, that's on the boat. And Kev, go green.

01:08:11 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 7:

Go white.

01:08:12 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 5:

All right, guys, so yesterday we had conferences, but I was at work, so I sent Dad for the first time by himself. Yeah. And he called me back and forth between each child's conference telling me everything that was happening. And we also learned that my 7th grader has been skipping band practice after school. And so I'm like, girl, what is your problem? Like, what are you doing? Where are you at? So we found out that she'll be in, like, other teachers' classrooms trying to make up missing work.

01:08:44 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. Well, she's getting her stuff done.

01:08:47 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 5:

I don't call that smart. Yeah.

01:08:49 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 6:

she could be doing a lot of other stuff

01:08:52 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 5:

yeah well thank you guys I love you thank you

01:08:57 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 6:

have a great day by the way that's brave to send dad to go do that thing because us dads don't recall anything other than that teacher's hot we screwed that one up

01:09:10 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 5:

we are a team

01:09:11 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 6:

we love you Kiki what's up Kiki

01:09:14 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 5:

hi can you hear me

01:09:18 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 6:

Yes. How are you doing, Kiki? We're talking about parent-teacher conferences, and what did you learn at a parent-teacher conference?

01:09:24 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 4:

So, when my son was in kindergarten, we went to, first time, long time.

01:09:29 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Kiki, I'm the first time I am.

01:09:34 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

So, I went to conferences. He's in fifth grade now, but I went to his kindergarten conferences, and I talked to his teacher. We got great comments and all of the things, and I was like, you know what, while I'm here, let me clean out his desk. and just make sure he doesn't have a bunch of crap in there. And I pulled out a bag of grapes that I had packed for his snack. And I was like, oh, great. Well, I kept digging, and I found a bag.

01:10:00 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 3:

20 Ziploc bags full of grapes in his desk that he had been stashing since the beginning of the year. And I was like, dude, he's not eating these. And he had asked me for grapes every day. Every day he asked me to pack him grapes and he wasn't eating them. He was just stashing them. And I looked at his teacher and I was like, my kid is making wine. And I was so embarrassed. And I have been friends of his kindergarten teacher ever since that's awesome what a great story kiki thank

01:10:34 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 5:

you oh gosh have a great day thank you bye uh voices guys this next one this is going to be good they don't want to embarrass the family uh what's up initial k what's going on my sister

01:10:46 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 1:

will kill me if she finds out um but my nephew i don't know if you guys have ever seen big daddy but my nephew had a big daddy moment the day of parent-teacher conferences. She didn't call home. She told my sister at the conferences that he peed in the plant.

01:11:08 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 4:

Can't go.

01:11:09 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 5:

That's great. The kid peeing. And by the way, this is your sister's kids. This is your nephew. So I get it now why she was wanting not to be a regular voice because her sister will kill her. And last but not least, Erica, what's up?

01:11:25 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. So I found out at conferences our son is deaf and he would teach his friends deaf signs like bad words and then tell them to ask the interpreter what they meant. so not not great but he's an adult now he's actually a deaf hockey player who's going to the usa deaf hockey like tournament oh my god shout him out what's his name yeah what's his

01:12:00 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 5:

name that's incredible what you gotta be so proud mom that's great yeah so he turned he turned out okay thank you for the call appreciate it all right it is mojo in the morning would you get

01:12:14 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 6:

sick or something no i've been sick for like the past two weeks and i'm at that final stage where the mucus and the bacteria and all of that is starting to come out so can you please i'm sorry bro what you want me to do yesterday you hawk something up your throat

01:12:31 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 2:

and you, like, swished it in your mouth. I didn't know I swished it. He swished it in his mouth because I gagged and you got mad that I gagged. And I said, there's literally mucus in your mouth while you're talking. It was disgusting.

01:12:44 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 6:

It's one of those moments where you don't blow it out your nose. You kind of snort it in. No, I know. And then you hit him with the, just to make sure you get it off.

01:12:52 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 2:

But you were also mid-sentence and we could hear it in your mouth.

01:12:55 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 6:

Landed the free. Pull it off.

01:12:58 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 2:

To it. To it. This is Mojo in the Morning. This happened at 5.50 in the morning. This was like before the show had even started. The craziest way to wake up in here is not by your coffee, but by the reaction of, am I going to projectile vomit on my coworkers right now?

01:13:17 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 6:

There's no way I'm going to walk out of the studio every time I got to blow my nose. I have no idea what y'all are talking about.

01:13:22 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's okay. You can then pick it up at a later time. No, that's weird. No, it's not to be fair. Instead, we're in a heartbreaking moment.

01:13:29 - 01:13:34 | Speaker 2:

at least I scoot away. Half of the time I'm in the room and I don't know what's going on.

01:13:37 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 5:

So you almost

01:13:38 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 6:

threw up yesterday.

01:13:41 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 5:

Really? Tracy Morgan, you almost pulled a Tracy Morgan?

01:13:45 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 6:

I'm not going to lie and say it was food poisoning. I did bust down two chicken sandwiches though. I'm air fried poppy. Love my air fryer. I make an incredible chicken tenderloin and an incredible chicken breast. My seasoning is to die for. I've been working with honey now. and doing like a little honey glaze over it. You're like Chipotle. Mike's hot honey. Mike's hot honey. I might be able to make my own little red hot with the honey and mix it up and kind of do it my way. Mike's hot honey. Listen, Kev's hot honey going to be the one. All right? That bell out honey. So doing that, right, and I can overeat sometimes, you know? And the chicken breast is like, it's a thick one too. Big boy. Two C's. Two C's. It might be three of them. I cut it in half because it was so large. And then I'm like, oh, bet. I could make a chicken sandwich instead of doing the chicken salad. I got the sesame seed buns. Matter of fact, let's throw some cheese on top. Throw it in the microwave for a good minute. Let it melt down. You know what I'm saying? I was in that type of bag. Finished them. Then I was like, oh, I got some Don Julio Anejo still sitting over there. That was the problem. All of a sudden, I get like this going on in my stomach where I almost threw up. Didn't throw up though and I'm glad because the last time I threw up it was

01:15:00 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 4:

like the worst experience of my life it was actually the night of my party that y'all came to oh yeah yeah i was so faded that night yes you were oh my god are you you're questioning that did i drink oh yeah he was bad look and zach stayed the whole time so zach probably saw it really escalate it got to the point where where did you throw up i threw up in the bed but i had a shoe box that i threw up oh my god because i had some loose shoes i wore and i couldn't get out the bed and i'm not gonna throw up in my bed so i saw this shoe box and i'm like yeah this is

01:15:31 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

sealed okay actually that's smart you know what i mean no it's not no that is empty shoe box you

01:15:36 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

threw it up in it and then did you put the lid back on yeah of course had the clothes it still had the paper in there so i'm not thinking it's gonna seep through the cardboard you know onto the carpet i thought that was a good idea it held to the morning and then you know we destroyed it

01:15:49 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 3:

wow there's nothing worse and i by the way the worst in the world is you don't know where to throw up i don't know when the last time any of our listeners have ever thrown up but uh it's the

01:15:59 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 4:

worst the worst people who throw up are for some reason the people who think if they put their hand over their mouth it's gonna it'll like and then you see it coming through their fingers like oh my

01:16:08 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 3:

god no no worse than that are the people who think while they're driving down a freeway they can throw

01:16:13 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 1:

up and it's not going to come right back at them no you ever see that i never ever do the worst is

01:16:20 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

me because i'm the confident drunk puker so my brother had a brand new car at the time he picked me up from the bar i'm wasted and uh i forced him to stop at taco bell as one does we had just gotten our food and i knew i had to vomit and i'm like can't puke in the car it's a it still smells like new car like cannot puke in this car and so i go i don't have this and he's like i'll pull over i'm like no need and i took i took the lid off of my full baja blast did not dump out the baja blast because why would I? That's going to fill the void that I'm about to empty in my stomach. Flipped the lid over, right? So thin plastic lid. I went, I'll catch it in here. No. Didn't work, by the way.

01:17:06 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. Do you guys ever throw up at school? Oh, yeah.

01:17:16 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 1:

And they had to bring out the sawdust.

01:17:17 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 3:

You become known as that kid, too, the rest of the school year.

01:17:21 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 1:

That happened to Lucy last week when we were experiencing Noro. It's the worst. She didn't care about not feeling well. She felt bad about everybody seeing, like, her being the one that's the worst.

01:17:33 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 4:

It's the worst. Alpha Sheldon threw up at school before.

01:17:37 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Sarah? Hi.

01:17:40 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 8:

Hey, good morning. So this was back when I had COVID a few years ago. I was running to the bathroom, which was like maybe like 15 feet away from my bedroom. And I was like, okay, I'm just going to catch it because I feel it coming. So I was running down the hallway. And at the time that I got to the threshold, I vomited. It projectiles back into my face and went onto the counter. My mom was standing there and she was like, you look like the cousin It with just your hair in your face. And she's like, I had no clue whether to laugh or to cry with you. She's like, I just, it was the funniest thing I've ever done. Like, it was disgusting, but it was very funny.

01:18:22 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 3:

The worst times is when you have to do that during that time. What's going on, Liz? Hi.

01:18:28 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I actually was saying that if you keep a Kroger bag in your car, I was driving home from BG one time, and I was hungover. the next morning, I put the handles around my ears and then every time I had to throw up, I would just open the bag and look down. Oh, no. In the same bag.

01:18:48 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 3:

Kind of smart. Disgusting. Do you keep that in your car just for that reason, huh?

01:18:55 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 6:

I keep broker bags in my car just for that reason, yeah. Wow. That is pretty

01:18:59 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 3:

amazing. That is kind of smart. It's almost like your own airplane vomit bag or whatever that they have. What's up, Nicole?

01:19:07 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 7:

Hi, how are you?

01:19:09 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's going on, Nicole?

01:19:11 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 7:

So my husband had been drinking, so I was DDing, and I just started Ozembeck, and I threw up all over the inside of my car while I was driving. My car felt like vomit for weeks. It was in my vents and everything.

01:19:25 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

In the vents? You can't even tell your feet off.

01:19:28 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I got home, and I got naked in the backyard because I didn't even want to bring it into the house. I threw everything in the garbage.

01:19:35 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 3:

Did you hose off then after that, or what'd you do?

01:19:38 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 7:

No, I ran to the bathroom to clean off, but no, I was naked in the backyard. All of my clothes. My daughter is laughing in the back because she remembers.

01:19:47 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 3:

Thank God no neighbors saw that. That would be bad.

01:19:50 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 7:

No neighbors. No neighbors, thank God. Well, I mean, we did have neighbors, but they were too busy doing other things. It was Easter, so.

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Dang. They're doing their Easter egg hunt in the backyard.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

there's a naked neighbor uh brie this is a perfect place to get sick because you had the

01:20:05 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 3:

right accompaniment what happened uh so i didn't know i was pregnant at the time i didn't find out two months later but i was at the movie theater with one of my friends watching the new paranormal activity and i think it was emotion of the movie that got me and i started throwing up while sitting in the movie theater and i had to grab a cup it was an empty pop cup next to me and i started puking in that and then i had a second to get up and as soon as i walked out i started puking on my way to the bathroom and then again in the bathroom oh my god it was the worst there

01:20:36 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 2:

was a whole trail of it those buckets by the way though are are perfect for it isn't it oh it wasn't

01:20:42 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

even a bucket it was like a cup like a cup that you would put pop or water in oh no yeah because

01:20:47 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 2:

i was gonna say those big old buckets that would be great ones uh you were talking about catching it in your hand. How about thinking that your clothes are going to stop it? Wendy, are you there?

01:20:57 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:20:58 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Where'd you do it?

01:21:00 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Well, I was at a house party and I was maybe trying to hook up with someone and couldn't quite find the bathroom so I puked in the sleeve of my winter jacket while I was wearing it. Oh, yeah.

01:21:16 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Here's the biggest question. Did you guys get to hook up?

01:21:22 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:21:24 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 2:

It is Mojo in the morning. Good to have you guys listening today. And always follow us on our social media. You can see everything going on in the show. We're live during the show. People always ask me this question. They're like, hey, why do you guys turn it off when there's a song or commercials? We got the rules we got to follow. And then that's one of the reasons why the Throwback Throwdown doesn't get podcast, because of the music rights and all the rest of that. So I know that we didn't screw up. People, we got a lot of people that like to tell on people. Like there's a lot of situations where people will tell on Zach or, you know, they don't know it's Zach. They're like, whoever your person is that does your podcasting forgot the throwback throwdown. And I just want you to know that you should know this thing. And I'm like going, are they like, are they trying to get them in trouble? They are rats, Zach. That's what they are. But they don't understand that we got rules and laws and things and stupid stuff like that. But it is funny how they'll try to tell on you and things. And then my other favorite thing is the conference or the people that will post on social media. And they'll be like, you guys are keeping me or hiding things from us. And they'll make a post. Everybody's been posting. and we talked it's funny our boss got mad at me for that caller that got on the air the other day that asked the question of where's kp yeah and the guy the guy called up and i listen i i felt like i when i answered it i answered it the way that the best i personally had the best way he could because there's you know the company has uh and if you missed it it was the other day you can hear i don't even know if made it to the podcast the boss probably made him edit it out but um they he asked the question and then people are asking on social media and wondering and our company has a policy now that they don't want us to refer to anything and there's no there's nothing nefarious going on uh and a lot of times people will assume that there's something going on we want nothing but the best for her and we know that she's going to do great but she's no longer part of the the iHeart and in the the radio show uh and she'll do great stuff and be we'll be very happy for it. But now he's going to get mad at me for saying that. But I have to be honest with you. I get to a point where I look at social media and there's a couple of people and it says top fans on there. And I don't know what that means on Facebook because I'm not a top fan of anything. But I would they'll say that they're the top fan and they'll say you do this to us all the time. And I'm thinking if you're a top fan of something, usually when you're a top fan of something like if you're a swifty if taylor swift pooped on you if she took a big old turd right on your head you're going with this you would you would be happy about it because you're a top fan

01:24:17 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning top fans think that we are doing something immorally legal or you know uh you know emotionally unstable or something like that and i sit there and i go why are these people

01:24:30 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 1:

top fans if they hate us so much i get it though really yeah there's it's an emotional connection yeah and when things change change isn't you know never oh i get that but but but understand this

01:24:42 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 2:

though but then you go okay what's going on all right well maybe there's some reason they're not

01:24:47 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 5:

making a comment there has to be a reason and there or i might have said there is a reason

01:24:52 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

but then it's the people it's the top fan there's there's two people particularly and i haven't done anything because I don't block people at all.

01:25:00 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 3:

all i try not to block people you do i just i've not i i just i just sit there and i just go whatever uh the deal is because i don't read a lot of the comments and don't be mad at me for that because i appreciate you guys doing it but my problem is is you heard yesterday i'm on my phone enough the last thing my wife wants me to do is sit there and be reading comments on social media to you know get my uh my wiener excited or not excited i thought you're gonna go with like maybe Are you blood pressure raising? Yeah. Something raising. But long story short with this is that if you're a top fan of the show, you would hopefully have our backs on certain things. And so I sit there and I ask you, when this does come up, don't think the worst. If, you know, all of us on a show are kind of doing our thing and whatever, you know, we're doing our thing. We're doing it. There's a reason why this happens. We have bosses. Yeah. So. And with that. And the rules. And with that said, let me tell you a story about why sewing. No, I'll go back. I'm going to write a tell-

01:26:03 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 1:

Go back to Taylor Swift pooping on something like that.

01:26:05 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to write. I always said this. You know, I want to write a book.

01:26:08 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 1:

You have to.

01:26:09 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 3:

You got to write a tell-off. I want to do a tell-off. Get on your super head. I want to get it. The only problem is I've sat down a couple of times to write down some stories, and I've put some stories together of things that we've done over the years or things that I've done personally in my life that have led to where I am right now. and I start writing them down, and I start thinking to myself, there is nobody that is going to be interested in this except for Aunt Pat. You know what I mean? You don't think so? I think that is the only person that would be interested. Like my sister Pat, I could draw her a stick figures, and she would go, oh, my God, it's gorgeous. That's how moms are. She's like kind of my mom figure in my life. She'd be the only person that would be interested in any of this.

01:26:52 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 1:

What is it like to be loved?

01:26:54 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 3:

She loves you, Megan. I love her. She talks about Megan all the time. She's like, I just love, and she's so damn cute. And she always has to preface it with, and she was cute when she was heavier.

01:27:06 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 1:

I love you.

01:27:07 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 3:

She always says that to me. And I'm like, Jesus, Pat. I'm like, why are you, why do you always have to preface that? Because I've been fat and skinny, Tom. I appreciate you. So she always will pull all that crap. I love her. All right. But it's Mojo in the morning. We got a lot of stuff to get to on the show, and we're going to get to it. I promise you.

01:27:29 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

New tariffs on the Dirty on the 30 comes with hidden fees and emotional baggage coming up in seconds on Mojo in the morning.

01:27:36 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're going to do the Dirty coming up literally in seconds after we give you weekend tickets. The tickets to see the weekend right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. 95th caller, your chance to win. 844-665-6548, 95th Caller of the Weekend. What's going on, Shannon?

01:27:56 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 2:

Here we go. Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30.

01:27:59 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 3:

Dirty on the 30, what's happening?

01:28:01 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 1:

So Kim Kardashian reportedly called an emergency custody hearing to take place after learning that Andrew and Tristan Tate, do you guys know who they are?

01:28:09 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Andrew Tate, yeah.

01:28:11 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

She found out that they were going to be present during one of Kanye's visits with their daughter north and she was just not happy about that the tate brothers returned to the u.s last month by the way after facing sex crimes charges overseas i don't believe they have been charged with anything yet but so kim finds out about this through some security guards who had filled her in and she was like nope this visit is happening no longer ended north's visit with her dad the former couple then sat down with their attorneys and a mediator on friday afternoon afternoon after North and Diddy were featured on Kanye's single Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine. We talked about this. The Tate brothers, also a topic of conversation during the sit down, I'm told. So I don't know if she is trying to strip him of, you know, parental rights, custody rights, visitation rights, parenting time. But something's going on there for sure. She is not happy. Can this behavior be grounds for like removal of rights? It doesn't look good. I know that. Yeah, I mean, if, especially, I feel like, as a mom, I would look at that and go, that is an unsafe situation. I would not want my child in that situation. Correct. Yeah. It also seems kind of fuzzy in court, right? Yeah, yeah. Yesterday, Blake Lively, speaking of court, filed to dismiss Justin Baldoni's multi-million dollar lawsuit as this messy legal battle that stems from their movie It Ends With Us continues. So her lawyer's argument is this. He said, California law prohibits suing victims who make the decision to speak out about sexual harassment or retaliation. And that's really what Blake is doing here. She accused.

01:30:00 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 3:

Justin of not only sexual harassment, but also of launching this big social manipulation PR campaign against her to destroy her reputation. That was the goal. Justin has always denied the allegation. So now she wants this thing just over and done with. And a side story here, the author of the book that inspired the movie, Colleen Hoover, said she is now broke because of this mess.

01:30:22 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 1:

I saw that my boss, Stephanie, put all of my merch on sale for $10 an item. that's like five times cheaper than what I paid for each item, which means by the end of the day today, I'm going to be broke as s**t.

01:30:39 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't think she's going broke anytime soon, by the way. No. Her books are very, very popular. Owners of the Boston Celtics announcing yesterday that the team has been sold at a valuation of $6.1 billion. The buyer is a group led by a private equity executive who grew up in the Boston area. His name is Bill Chisholm, if anybody cares. He said in a statement, he understands. Bill Chisholm, what did you say? Chisholm. Chisholm. Bill Chisholm. Chisholm. Is that how you say it's called, Chisholm? But he just said he understands the importance of the team. He understands the importance of the team to the city, and he is up for the challenge. Now, it is the most ever paid for a North American sports franchise ever, topping the $6.05 billion the Washington Commanders brought the NFL in 2025. The NBA record, I believe, was $4 billion when the Suns sold to Matt Ishbia in 2023.

01:31:37 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 9:

It's funny. The Dallas Cowboys are still the team that is valued at the highest amount, which is always mind-boggling to me. Dallas Cowboys.

01:31:47 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, because of the merch, right?

01:31:48 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 9:

I don't get it because they haven't won in forever.

01:31:51 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 6:

America's team.

01:31:52 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 9:

But I don't get that.

01:31:53 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 6:

But it's got to be the merch, right?

01:31:55 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 9:

It could be. Because it's sold across the country. Although I did hear somebody was saying to me that when you sell these teams, a lot of times you're selling also the venue that they play in. So a lot of the real estate and everything goes with it.

01:32:07 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I never thought about that. Genuinely wonder how much value the cheerleaders bring to the franchise because they're the only, I know all of the franchises have cheerleaders now at this point. But can we be honest? The Cowboys are the only ones that we ever really talk about.

01:32:20 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. Well, they had that documentary and that reality show.

01:32:24 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 8:

You know what's crazy? So the guy that bought the Celtics, he purchased it in 2002 for $360 million. No way.

01:32:34 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 9:

And you just said they just sold it $6.1 billion. Holy cow. That seems like a pretty good investment. What a flip.

01:32:40 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, have any of you heard the story of this Mexican restaurant employee who had a table full of President Trump supporters and what she said to them. Did you hear this story?

01:32:51 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

I work at a Mexican restaurant and last night I had a MAGA table come in wearing the hat and everything. And I just thought, why are you here? This is not for you. You don't get to enjoy these flavors in this cuisine that comes from a country whose people you're trying to kick out. This is not for you. Go home and eat some unseasoned chicken and green bean casserole like God intended. Oh, and they tipped $2 on 70 bucks.

01:33:23 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

Time to grab your dumbbrella. It's getting stupid in here, Mojo.

01:33:27 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, she got fired. Wow. Using this comment to say that the MAGA people got so angered by my video that they're literally trying to hunt me down. Every MAGA person watching this, okay? Please listen carefully to my words. I don't work there anymore. I see you guys commenting the location of my job, the address of my job on all of my videos. I see it. I don't work there anymore. Commenting the name of my job. I don't work there anymore. They let me go because of my video. And that's fine. It's a restaurant. I'll get another job.

01:34:04 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 5:

I'm Donald J. Trump, and I don't approve of this mojo in the morning message.

Everybody's got a reason why they think that that body part is ugly. And don't tell me that you don't think that your significant other has something on their body that's ugly. I promise you everybody does. Don't go anywhere.

01:36:08 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 3:

WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Mojo in the Morning. so my wife and i were uh spending time together yesterday kev gave me the advice of go home and turn everything off so i did i went home and i turned everything off everything including the lights no and and i uh i was we're just laying down we're hanging out with each other and uh chelsea says to me she goes uh can you put some socks on and i said to her i go why do i need to put socks on and she claims that my feet were cold and i was touching her with my feet and my feet were you know rubbing up against her and it was kind of like you know cold feet rubbing up and then i started realizing i don't think it has anything to do with that i am convinced that my wife thinks that my feet are ugly now for those that don't know what my feet look like if you I haven't bought any of my feet pictures that we sell up on MojoInTheMorning.com under body part pictures for sale. My feet are flat, they're fat, and my nails on my toes are probably a little longer than they should be. Occasionally, they might get a little yellow. Occasionally, they might get a little yellow. I actually have one right now that's got black on it. Like it's a black one.

01:37:46 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 2:

Why? Why?

01:37:47 - 01:37:57 | Speaker 3:

Because I dropped something on, I dropped a freaking pan on my foot and the, I thought I broke my freaking foot. I didn't break my foot, but I think I might've bled inside of the toe.

01:37:57 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh no. Yeah, homie.

01:37:59 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 3:

So I, so I was, uh, you know, sitting there the whole time going, I think she's basically calling me ugly and it hurt my feelings. So I asked her, I said, can I ask you an honest question? And she goes, what's that? I go, do you think my feet are ugly? And she goes, I would never, I would never call your feet ugly. And I'm like going, really? I'm like, you wouldn't say that they're not the nicest looking feet? And she goes, well, they're not the nicest looking feet. They're not ugly. Like, she's like, I will never say anything on you is ugly. And I said, that is such bull crap. Maybe out loud you wouldn't say it, but in your head you're saying it. And I believe that this is the case for most people that are in relationships. I believe most people that are in relationships have somebody that genuinely you love, okay? but there's something about them that you look at and go, man, if I could change that. You know what I mean? I mean, I think that there's things that are on you that you don't necessarily always love.

01:38:54 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 4:

What's the ugliest part of your body? What's the ugliest part of your body? Some say your nose. Some say you're toes, I think it's your mind

01:39:16 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number I would like to know what is the ugliest part of your significant other's body and why Call it out Don't be shy Be proud on this one here Hey Courtney, how you doing?

01:39:37 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good, how are you?

01:39:39 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

Good, Courtney What's the ugliest part of your age? Are you married?

01:39:44 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 2:

I am. I have been with my husband since I was 15. Okay. We were together in high school. And from day one, he has the flattest, clammiest feet, and it is repulsive.

01:39:56 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

Do you do what Chelsea does? Do you tell him to put socks on? Oh, my gosh, yeah. I tell him to put socks on. And if his feet touch me in the middle of the night, I just kind of, like, punch him, and then he'll, like, move to the side. And now I have three sweet kiddos with him. Oh, kiddos. Sorry, Megan. Don't you hate that word? Sorry. How dare you? Hang up on her. I say kiddos all the time. And my son has his feet, and it is the grossest. He's so cute, but they are flat and clammy, and now my kid has them. Clammy. And it is.

01:40:28 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 7:

It's bad.

01:40:29 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's so bad.

01:40:30 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 7:

You know what's funny is that you say that? It's funny that I gave my feet to poor Jacob. The poor kid got, and Luke. Joe didn't get my feet. Joe got his mom's feet. But the kids all got my nose. And those poor bastards, I feel so bad. Joe has actually said that he wants to get a nose job because he thinks his nose is so bad.

01:40:47 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 6:

No, his nose is fine. Yeah.

01:40:49 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 7:

There is something about it when your significant other gives your children, passes down to them your ugly piece. Samantha, you are also married. your husband uh what's the ugliest part of your husband's body i love my husband to death i really

01:41:04 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

really do but his kneecaps that is so random so in my defense if you've ever seen the movie et where he gets really sick and turns into a powdered donut oh my god that's what my husband's kneecaps look like we like i i will put coconut oil and stuff on him when he wears shorts but his kneecaps remind me of et by the way i've never heard it described as when he looks like a is this a black man yes leave us alone no he should know better wait wait wait wait he said his mom focused on greasing up his face yeah that's laughing she pull out the vaseline put it on the face and that's where it stops mamas mamas please hit the kneecap you know what you

01:41:53 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 6:

to do you need to start singing head shoulders knees and toes to him i i love this by the way

01:42:00 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 7:

are there any men that are calling in uh for this you're not getting in trouble they're smart

01:42:05 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 6:

did chelsea then ask you like what about me i was that a dangerous territory honestly

01:42:12 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 7:

she thinks now her ass is not great because she's lost weight and she lost it in her ass yeah and i told her i i love her ass she but she used to have like she used to as kevin would say She used to have a thick ass, a juicy, thick, juicy ass. A little fatty. It's now, you know how when you go to Kroger and you go look for fruit every now and again? Don't keep going. Every now and again, there's one that's smaller than the others. Hers is now one of the smaller ones. You're insane. It used to be.

01:42:41 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 6:

I feel like you switched to your story.

01:42:42 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 7:

She used to have the thick Georgia peaches. We're now getting the peaches from somewhere else.

01:42:47 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 6:

By the way, you and I have no room to talk on butts. You and I both have frog butts. Yeah, you guys do. See, her butt's not froggy. We have such frog butts. If you see me from behind, 12-year-old boy, you would have no idea. Excuse me, sir. Oh. I can lay flat on the ground.

01:43:07 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 7:

Kimberly, what's the ugliest part of your husband's body?

01:43:11 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. So my husband, one of his nipples is hairier than the other one. Is it from his shirt rubbing up against it?

01:43:22 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 7:

Or what's the story that the other one doesn't have hair?

01:43:25 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. I mean, when I met him, he didn't have that hairy of a chest. And now it's just kind of like...

01:43:30 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 7:

It only grew on one side.

01:43:32 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 1:

One's outgrowing at the other, yeah.

01:43:33 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 7:

Do you guys live near a power plant? Jean, what's the ugliest part of your fiancé's body?

01:43:44 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 5:

First off, long time. That's what I was waiting for from Kevin. But my fiance has very funky ears that stick out. He's adorable. Love him to death. But I just worry if we procreate it. I just hope that my children would get my genes when it comes to these.

01:44:09 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 7:

So they're just kind of like they stick out a little bit. Have you ever thought of pinning them back or super gluing them? Have you ever heard things, maybe one of those?

01:44:16 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you know, we all have our thoughts, so we keep those to ourselves, Mojo.

01:44:21 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 7:

I love you, Jean. Call more often. What's up, Morgan? Hi.

01:44:26 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I hope my husband doesn't hear this because he might be mad at me, but he has the world's smallest butt. Like, it could basically fit in the palm of my hand, and it all runs through his back. So if I try to smack his butt, he's always saying I smacked his back. what's his butt crack look like it's very long so the butt cheeks look like they're always clenched 24 7 but then the butt crack is very long that's funny so it's such a thin

01:44:55 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 7:

butt that he has that his butt crack goes like a line down the back there huh

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 1:

It all runs together. It's just one long, continuous back. That's amazing. God, that's wild. We should get him, Megan, and myself, and we should all see if the listeners can guess whose butt is yours.

01:45:12 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he would love that.

01:45:16 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. We finally got ourselves a guy willing to call out his girl. Weedy is his name. We have never talked to Weedy, so Weedy. Weedy. Is that true? What up, though? What up, though? What's going on, Weedy?

01:45:33 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay. So here it is. My girl's hands is ridiculous. I would change them because she bite her nails. She can't put on no fake nails because after she bite them, you know, they get raw, and I'd be like, bro, so I'm just stuck with, like, just nubs. You hear me? I mean, they soft, but it's understuffed with nubs.

01:46:00 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 3:

Megan Mick is quiet because her nails are the same. No, look. Let me see your nails. Look, Shope have your cuticles. No, I know. No, she has nails, though. I'm not talking about the nails. Look at the nail beds. Your poor girl is stressed out. She has high anxiety. Leave me alone, brah.

01:46:19 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 1:

She's stressed, and you need to help her. Help her.

01:46:22 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 3:

Inflamed. You probably have an infection. Stop it. Inflamed. Hey, I got a finger for you. That one. That was a bloody two.

01:46:31 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 4:

I do take the pain and stress away. That's my job, I know. But, yeah, she's still about it. She's still about it.

01:46:39 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 1:

Wait, where is your girl at right now that you're convinced that she's not going to hear this on the radio?

01:46:45 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 4:

No, no. Like, because, bro, I'm on the phone with her, and I'm talking to your mom, and I hear you talking about your feet. And I'm like, oh, shoot, this better not go the way my feet going because I take care of my feet. So my feet be cold. Yeah, they be ashy, messing up the covers. And I be like, bro, so I take care of my feet and hit them with a little scraper, like boom, boom, boom. So I thought you was going that route, right? You're like, oh. And I'm like, no, I ain't got no ugly feet, though. So I was good. So I was safe. And then I'm like, all right. So I started talking about my nose. And she was like, how are these things? Nothing. And she being all nice. And I'm like, hey, quit playing. And I'm like, okay. So I was just hitting with the realness. And I'm like, all right, no. I'm going to call you back. And so then I'm like, I know she listening. He needs to like, like, like, like.

01:47:35 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 1:

All right. So shout out to Wheaties Girl. What's her first name? Her name, Tara. Hey, Tara. Tara, you could do so much better. You could do so much better. Aside from his feet, we know that everything else is not great.

01:47:49 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 4:

I hope you're not listening. All right. Y'all hope it should be listening. And look, your feet, your feet, it can't get cured. I'm sorry, buddy.

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 1:

I'll talk to you, buddy. Thanks, Weedy. Love you, buddy. Thanks.

01:47:59 - 01:48:09 | Speaker 2:

Friendly reminded this morning that you are good enough. I mean, we're a bunch of idiots that just happen to have a radio show. And chances are you're funnier than we are. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:10 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning, home of the War of the Roses, second date update, the Dirty on the 30. It's good to have you here. It's Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Kev, myself hanging out. And this is something that Shannon was, like, nervous to bring up on the radio because she wants to go back to this place. Oh, yeah.

01:48:28 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 3:

We cannot say the name. You know which place I'm talking about. So I don't want to. Please don't say it.

01:48:32 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

I won't say the name. But we're going to get into one of those. This is like one of those customer service investigative reporting things on the air here right now. And ask the listeners what they would do in this case. But you went out for happy hour.

01:48:45 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

Truly love this place. But I feel wronged. So I was scrolling through my Instagram the other day and I saw on this particular establishment's Instagram story that they were in the middle of happy hour. And there's a little sign. They took a picture of a sign that was outside on the sidewalk and it has the name of the business and it says, join us for happy hour, three to six, half off drinks. So I'm upstairs doing some stuff in my room. Wes is downstairs working and I texted him a picture of it and I said hey you wanted to take a walk today let's walk here it's and then have drinks happy hour he was like a great idea so he finishes working we go to this place and we get there at 508 so I even say to the bartender I'm like we got 52 minutes left of happy hour so he knew we were there for happy hour we're sitting at the bar um he had a drink i had a glass of wine and then like at 10 minutes left at 10 till 6 i get and i also made it a point to say i have 10 minutes left i get another drink well when it came time to get our bill I noticed that the drinks were full price

01:50:00 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, wait a second, it's, it's set on the side, like it's happy hour. And so the bartender, I say something to the bartender and I said, oh, like I thought for happy hour, you know, the drinks were half price. And he was like, oh, no, no, no, no. It's only certain things on the menu. And I'm looking at them. I'm like, okay, well, where? And so then Wes is like, please stop, please stop, please stop. But then I show him my phone because I had the screenshot, which is what I sent Wes. And I said, but your sign says half off drinks. there's no asterisk there's no happy hour menu it just says half off drinks and and uh you know

01:50:38 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 3:

what false advertising huh but we still paid full price for everything they wouldn't budge and i

01:50:44 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 2:

wasn't gonna ask for i was not gonna be that person to ask for a manager but he was like nope

01:50:47 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 3:

nope it's only certain things can i speak to your manager have you ever done that before can i speak manager and the guy comes out with his mustache fully in line and uh starts giving you the uh the well you know i can give you a coupon uh for your next visit wes was so embarrassed he's like

01:51:05 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 2:

i don't know if you said anything i was like this is this is our spring and summer yes right what's

01:51:14 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 3:

the reason i don't understand the reason why though it sounded like everything you said was factual based it was like you had an opinion yeah your honor the science i was like go look at your sign outside right you tell them i'm calling up the hall of shame i'm calling up i'll set this

01:51:31 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 2:

whole place i will i'm gonna i'm gonna get even if they had a special happy hour menu the sign should say that yep happy hour half off drinks happy hour menu there shannon goes again she

01:51:43 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 3:

takes it just up to that point and she cannot get the guts to go for her.

01:51:48 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. What do you mean? I said something. I know, but you should have said

01:51:51 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I will not stand for this. You should have said I'm going on social media and I'm drawing a picket in front of this place. We're going to have we're going to cast a group of people to protest. We will never come here ever again. You can't false advertise that. I hate when a place will do it where they'll say to you that they have a special on something and this is something i talk about all the time with my car dealer guys over at gordon chevrolet the car dealer that will say we've got cars that are priced under such and such and they literally had one in like 2017 they haven't had one since but they keep that line up there and that's gordon chevrolet their their whole motto is that uh you know they want they don't want you getting catfished when you when you go in and you don't They'll make sure. They say they got it, they got it. But this is interesting with the happy hour because at that point, I want to drink. I want to get drunk. Half for half price. At least. For half price. For half price. We should all go to this place. Half off drinks. Half off drinks. Join us for happy hour. Half off drinks.

01:53:00 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 2:

Three to six.

01:53:01 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 3:

Half off drinks. We'll stand in front. Half off drinks. We should go to this place, though, the same time you did it and see what happens. What would they do? Make you pay a full price. No, no. Then we're going to go outside, pull the sign down, and bring it in. Yeah. And then light the place on fire.

01:53:18 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait. Too far.

01:53:19 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Too far. I'm going to go. I'm going to call in the big guns. I'm going to call in the big guns, and we're going to protest this place.

01:53:29 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 1:

This is the Reverend Jesse Jackson. You're waking up with Mojo in the morning. Keep hope alive.

01:53:33 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 2:

And you want to know the funniest part of the story? Wes was like, had you not had the two full-priced drinks, you weren't even complaining about them. because there's no way I would have ever said anything had I not had the courage to do so, ever, ever.

01:53:44 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 3:

Somebody needs to call me. I want a bartender to call me. Matt the bartender is one of my favorites. Chelsea and I love Matt all the time. If it's half-off drinks, do you guys water your drinks down? I want to know if they do that. Do they put in less of a pour? Matt gives us the strongest pours I've ever had in my life. I love Matt. We're mad at it. Don't give away your spot, for sure, for sure. Matt was at a place. Matt told me this. He went to one place to work. He had two jobs. One place he went to, he said he couldn't work there anymore because they told him to work with light pours. Doesn't like light pours. That's so weak. Yeah. Got to give a good pour. Good pour means good tip. What's going on, Jessica?

01:54:23 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 1:

I just have a wild guess that it's Applebee's.

01:54:28 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

Why does Applebee's do this?

01:54:30 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 1:

Every single time I go there.

01:54:32 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 3:

Really?

01:54:33 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 1:

They have, like, half-off appetizers at night, I think from, like, 9 to 11. and they're like, oh, no, that's only for this or that. I'm like, I've been sitting here for an hour. What do you mean? No, you can't get those. And there's a list of them, but they deny me to half-off appetizers or half-the-hour drinks every time.

01:54:49 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 2:

This is a serious business. You have to be very clear. Yeah.

01:54:53 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I hate when they have the whole you got to order from, like, three different drinks.

01:55:00 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 2:

none of those drinks are drinks that I would ever want. You know what I mean? Like, I ain't drinking that drink. Give me a good drink. Give me something that I want that's going to be good. What's your favorite thing at Applebee's? I used to love that

01:55:26 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 4:

Chicken Broccoli Alfredo.

01:55:28 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 2:

I used to love that patch pizza that they had It was like a white pizza It was good, too

01:55:35 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 3:

I took a girl to Applebee's one time She said, I'm not eating here

01:55:37 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 2:

She said she wasn't going to eat there? Why, she thought she was worth more?

01:55:42 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 3:

I guess

01:55:42 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

So where did you guys go?

01:55:43 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 3:

I don't remember I just remember that moment

01:55:46 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 2:

Did we ever have Tony Roma's here? Did you guys ever eat at a Tony Roma's?

01:55:51 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 3:

The place for ribs

01:55:51 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 2:

Tony Roma's We had him in Arizona No, that's Tony Roma

01:55:58 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 3:

Wasn't it a rib place or no?

01:55:59 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

Tony Roma's, they had it in Arizona when I lived in Arizona, and it was. It was a rib place. Yeah. And I remember we went to Tony Roma's one time, and they had a deal. It was on mini ribs, which, by the way, how do they get ribs so small? Did they cut them in half? I don't want to know. They had maybe kids. Was it? It's like cocktail wieners. How do they get cocktail wieners so small? They had mini ribs, and the deal was for one hour, you could get all you can eat mini ribs. and I went into the place with Kid Marconi, who was our night guy at our radio station. Kid Marconi and I ate so many of them, they asked us to never come back.

01:56:33 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 4:

Are you serious? It was bad.

01:56:35 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 2:

The only other place that we got kicked out of was when this whole show, the Mojo in the Morning Show, got kicked out of the Chinese buffet in Novi. They told us that we ate too much. What's up, Ronnie?

01:56:46 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time very, very long time. Welcome, Ronnie. I am a bartender and usually, which it should still be specified, when they do half-off drinks, usually it's like domestic drinks.

01:57:03 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So it's domestic meaning the crappy alcohol.

01:57:08 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, pretty much.

01:57:09 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:57:10 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 5:

The light beers and all that.

01:57:12 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Yeah, well wine and drafts. I used to do the commercials for one of the bars that advertised me. It was like, well wine and drafts. Yeah. Until such and such a talk. Yeah. So never the expensive stuff or the moderately. You're not getting Tito's at that time. What's going on, Angie?

01:57:30 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to Tito's. Hi. So I go to Chili's with my friends at least once a month. And every time we want to get a drink, the bartender or the lady that attends us, she's always like, oh, you guys can't get these specials because you have to sit at the bar or these appetizers are only at the bar. and it's kind of annoying. Like, we don't even go there anymore. We go to, like, other places now because, like, why do they do that, you know?

01:57:56 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:57:56 - 01:57:57 | Speaker 4:

You don't want to sit at the bar.

01:57:58 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 2:

You know what?

01:57:59 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 3:

That's really weird, too, that you have to be sitting at the bar to get that offer.

01:58:01 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 2:

But I get it. They want to be in the bar area or something like that. They don't want to take up a table that somebody was going to eat a dinner at, probably, right?

01:58:08 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm. But that makes sense. Okay.

01:58:11 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, listen, our protest is not going to do very good because nobody here wants to protest.

01:58:16 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to commit our sin.

01:58:17 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 1:

It ain't 15 or less. It's Shannon's Dirty on the 30. But first, coming up on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. You'll hear this.

01:58:25 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 2:

All right, coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning show, we're going to do something new to the show. I'm going to do it on Fridays. And I came up with this idea with the Joe show. It's going to be called Leftover Friday. You know how you always have, like, one day of the week where you've got to go in the refrigerator and eat all the food out of the styrofoam that you had, like, sitting in there? Everybody on the show has got to do one of their topics that Lydia didn't pick this week. And we're just going to do a leftover of one of our topics that she decided not to air on the air. And then we're randomly going to go through and see if that topic actually could have been a good topic. Like if that leftover was a good leftover.

01:59:01 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:59:01 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 2:

Or did you get food poisoning from it? Coming up next, stick around for that. Shannon's Dirty and your chance to go see Post Malone Jelly Rolls next.

01:59:11 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 1:

More Mojo in minutes. go ahead eat that potluck at the office you have no idea whose cat dropped a hair in there and you'll never know who licked the spoon and kept using it this is mojo in the morning

01:59:26 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning so this is a topic that uh we will be doing on fridays fridays on the mojo in the morning show just like today is friday and we have this thing that's interesting uh that we do every single night just to give you like a little behind the scenes on this radio show we do daily show diaries so basically the diaries are dear diary here's what i did today to let everybody on the show know exactly what every person had going on in their life

02:00:00 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 4:

So that we can compile what we're going to talk about on the show. It just randomly doesn't just happen, even though sometimes it seems like it, doesn't it? I mean, sometimes we go a little off course from what our show stuff. It is great. It's been a good show week. We've laughed a lot. Honestly, I felt like we've gotten really silly to a point that listeners have said, I have no idea what you're saying because you guys are laughing so hard during it. I felt like at one point, honestly, we sounded like Miley Cyrus as we were laughing because it sounded like we were all stoned.

02:00:30 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 2:

We have a crazy story about her and the dirty.

02:00:33 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 4:

But we did a lot of fun stuff. And here is the interesting thing. It still, though, has us full of more things that we could talk about. This show could be way longer than 6 o'clock till 10.30 in the morning. And there are times, I know, where some of us get a little salty that Lydia, who is our executive producer, does not choose certain topics that we will post.

02:01:02 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 3:

Lit.

02:01:03 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 4:

And I think Lydia does a great job of trying to get the best of all of us on there. And I think that sometimes some people have thin skin.

02:01:15 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 3:

Who are the people? I'm listening.

02:01:17 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

02:01:18 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Maybe you. I for sure had moments where Lydia ain't picked topics that I thought were called.

02:01:24 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 1:

but we talk about it like you'll tell me hey i like this one better and that's why i have you guys share maybe double topics in the slot that i have you in but but kevin you know in some of

02:01:34 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 4:

like what would be a topic lydia that he would write that you would go what in the hell like

02:01:39 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 1:

i wouldn't pick that yeah um you have my list up no but i can just memorize some of them like you submitted one about wearing a tuxedo to a funeral like you're like should i wear a tuxedo i don't

02:01:50 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 3:

have anything to wear to a funeral but in my mind it was what's the most is that inappropriate was the direction i was going and what's the most inappropriate thing that somebody has worn to occasion because i don't have a black suit but i have a tuxedo another thing about kevin though

02:02:03 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 1:

and show meetings he does a um a pretty bad job at explaining what his topic's going to be and then on the air it does he does he does he'll sit there and be like yeah i ate that banana and then on the air he'll be like i choked on the banana and then i fell into a woman's breasts

02:02:18 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 4:

he does he does it's early in the morning i think that's the problem but and he also wants to save the best for it so um so okay so here's what i wanted to do i wanted i want us all to go through go through some of our topics and then tell you a topic or two actually just do one everybody just do one what's one topic that you've posted that lydia just will not you know pick like there's something that she will not pick it's our Friday leftovers what is it that you have that Lydia hasn't picked and then we'll give the opportunity for the listeners to whatever it is that they want to you know comment on they can comment on so it'd be a random thing okay so we'll go around the room real quick is that is that okay with you guys yeah all right here's mine this is this is my topic. Okay. Mine is the never ending texter. I wanted to call out in every one of us has one or two or three of these friends who are the people that have to keep on texting you and don't understand that you're done texting with them. How do you end your never ending texter from texting nonstop? And I wrote it in here as, um, tonight I was having the most relaxing evening ever. I just got done eating dinner and was sitting down to watch some basketball and it happened. I got a text from that friend. Everyone has one. The never ending texter. You know, the one that you start with and then three hours later, they're still texting you. By the way, if that person's listening, you know who you are. I thought that was a good one. And And how do you stop them and get people to talk about it? That was one of the topics Lydia did not choose. Shannon, what would be yours?

02:04:08 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so mine, one of them that I wrote this week that she didn't choose was, I have been banned from buying something in my house to the point that Wes confronted me about this. And he said, you are done and not allowed to buy any more rugs. And I do have a little issue buying rugs because either they're old or the dogs pee on them or every year, like this time of year for the spring, I like to buy new outdoor rugs. To be fair, he also calls doormats rugs. And the funny part was, because I had just gotten two delivered, the funny part was, as he's telling me this totally straight face to, I was on my way to Target to do a pickup for another one. But he was like, no more. Like, we're done buying rugs for the year.

02:04:48 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, you also. So I've been banned. You have mentioned that you've bought things that were excessively expensive. These are not. No?

02:04:54 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 2:

These are not. Nope. I love Amazon, by the way.

02:04:56 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 4:

All right. Megan, what's yours?

02:04:58 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

So we got into a very...

02:05:00 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 1:

heated debate here uh at work one day it was me and some of the promotional girls and we were talking about celebrities that we find very very hot and the conversation took a very fun turn where it was who are the celebrities you know are ugly but you're still attracted to and this seems really mean but truly he's like top of my want to bang list is john oliver but he looks like he was bullied in high school so like who's the ugly celebrity that you want to to bang bill hater okay okay oh you could see good one of him yeah okay i like it i like that

02:05:32 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 2:

that's a good one cav you're you're the inspiration sometimes for this friday leftovers topic i just

02:05:38 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 3:

gave you mine i had a person that recently passed away okay pretty tragic situation really wants to do it the funeral is today i don't have a black suit but i have a tuxedo can you wear a tuxedo to the funeral or is that inappropriate and who's the most inappropriate dresser you know or who wore something inappropriate to your graduation it would be well it would be interesting to hear

02:06:02 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 2:

some of the things that people wore to funerals because it would be interesting to hear like somebody dressed in like a mini or like a really short short skirt yeah or you know um all right so those are the leftovers those are the friday leftovers 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number um mine was the never-ending texter shannon is the excessive rug purchaser have you been banned from buying okay well i'm just giving them a recount they know what you said uh megan is she wants to bang john oliver uh and cav cav is uh he was he wants to dress in a tuxedo to go to a funeral um which one of these will stick to the wall which one of these will you have a comment on? Which one of these will be something that maybe will show Lydia that they could have been a good topic? Friday leftovers. I actually, I'll tell you this, with my true leftovers, it's never Friday that we have them. It's usually like Monday for some reason, because restaurants are closed on Mondays and we don't order out from restaurants, but I have all the stuff from the weekend. The best leftover is Mezza Grill on the last day. Oh, I agree. It is so good. What kind of food is that? It's Middle Eastern food. It's good stuff, like hummus. Hello, Mojo in the Morning. Hi.

02:07:20 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning. How are you?

02:07:21 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Good. Friday leftovers. Which one do you like?

02:07:26 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 6:

The one about what you wear to the funeral?

02:07:29 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:07:30 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 6:

That was Kev, I think you said. It was. It was.

02:07:33 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. What is the most inappropriate thing somebody's worn to a funeral?

02:07:38 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 6:

So it was me. My mother's funeral. So my mind is already all over the place. um i found these shirts at the rainbow that had like love on it it had like fringes hanging down where the stomach is so it's only covered where your boobs are so me and my daughter wore the same shirt but we put on um um shirts up under but they were yeah but when i went into the when i walked into the funeral my brother just held his head like he thought i really loved it and was at miles funeral with my belly out oh my god i i think

02:08:12 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

I agree with your brother.

02:08:13 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 2:

I want to see a picture of that. I want to see a picture of everybody's faces when you're wearing it. Tom, which topic grabbed your interest? Kevin and the funeral. Oh, my God, Kevin. Don't ever doubt Kevin again, Lydia.

02:08:28 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 4:

You can wear black pants and a black shirt. You don't have to necessarily dress up in a tuxedo or a suit. It's about going there to pay your respects.

02:08:38 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 2:

This is Tom the funeral guy. Tom, real quick, what's the most inappropriate thing you've ever seen somebody come to a funeral dressed in?

02:08:47 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 4:

Girls wearing mini skirts up to their booty. Really? You're kidding me. And who died?

02:08:52 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 2:

They're a pimp.

02:08:54 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know who died, but whoever died, that's just inappropriate wear for a funeral. No open-toed shoes, no mini skirts up to their booty.

02:09:04 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:09:05 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 1:

No open-toed shoes?

02:09:07 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 2:

But, Dom, did you look? Were you paying attention? If the dead person comes back to life, though, off of it, that would be amazing.

02:09:15 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 3:

Why can't you wear open-sewed shoes, though? That's weird.

02:09:18 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Because it's not dressy enough, I guess. I don't know. Hold on. Kelly, which topic did you like to talk about?

02:09:25 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Having the funeral because we're going to get a lot of crazy stories because my father's side of the family dress like they're going to the club. They take pictures with the deceased in the casket like they're at the club. No, no, no. I hate that. I hate it.

02:09:40 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 2:

I love when people do that. That's like a cultural thing where people will actually take pictures with the dead body. Alyssa says that she's kind of torn between two of the topics. Which topics are you torn between?

02:09:54 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I would say either Megan's or Kevin's.

02:09:57 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Do you have a celebrity?

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 1:

that you think is not attractive but you would definitely like to sleep with?

02:10:05 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Jeremy Allen White from Sameless. Oh, great answer. And you know what the test is? If you work at a gas station, would you try to get their number? And the answer to both of these is no.

02:10:19 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 1:

But you know what it is? It's their character that you like so much.

02:10:22 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:10:23 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 1:

Alyssa, and then who?

02:10:24 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 3:

He looks like a slug.

02:10:26 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 1:

What's the dead, or what's the funeral thing, the inappropriate thing at a funeral?

02:10:31 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my cousin came to my grandmother's funeral with a spaghetti-strap tank top on that could have bursted with a gust of wind, and she had a pack of cigarettes tucked in her boobs. Oh, gosh. No.

02:10:50 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 1:

I love it. I love it. And you know what? Grandma would have been fine. She would have been happy at least she showed up. Heather, which one is your topic that you like?

02:11:01 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 6:

Kevin. But it's about my wedding. Yeah. Okay.

02:11:05 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Inappropriate thing somebody wore to the wedding. Okay.

02:11:08 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 6:

My cousin, immediate first cousin, wore white forces, white sweatpants, and a white tee. No. That is so rude. We're in family pictures and everything. It's great.

02:11:19 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:11:20 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 6:

Not the forces and the white tee. At least it was all white.

02:11:24 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Do a wedding. That's all we had. Hold on. Hold on. We got something different here. We got Kim. Kim wants to comment on which topic, Kim?

02:11:35 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Shannon. Shannon, I love you. I got you, girl. Oh, I love you, too.

02:11:39 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 1:

What is it that you're banned from buying?

02:11:42 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 5:

Anything from Bath and Body Works. Candles, lotions, soap.

02:11:46 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 1:

You got too many of them.

02:11:47 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 5:

I have bags and bags of them, and so I'm absolutely prohibited from going there again or ordering online. I cannot order for at least a year, I was told. Why did I do that?

02:11:58 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't need 17 body washes. Why? Because there's a deal.

02:12:02 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 1:

Susan also has one for you, Shannon. What do you ban from buying, Susan?

02:12:08 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 3:

Water thermoses, cups, anything that holds liquid. Yeah. Yeah, I got like four cupboards full of them. Do you really? Yeah. And I buy them and I sneak them in.

02:12:20 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 1:

When you say, hey, grab me a cup, nobody knows which cups to grab, right? Do you have to describe them?

02:12:26 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my husband, he gets so aggravated. He opens the cupboard, and, like, three of them will fall out on his head. He's like, what's the camp? They roll.

02:12:33 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 1:

Has he ever, quote, unquote, said, God damn cups? Does he say that?

02:12:37 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

02:12:39 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

02:12:40 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he does that and more. He's like, you better stop buying these cups. And then we went downstairs to clean the basement, and we have a kitchen down there. Yeah. Opened the cupboard and got hit with one in the head. I was cracking up.

02:12:50 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my.

02:12:51 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was great.

02:12:52 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Marianne said that somebody showed up at her daughter's funeral. I'm so sorry about that. Marianne, somebody showed up at your daughter's funeral dressed in what?

02:13:02 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 4:

A Budweiser T-shirt, frayed jean shorts, and flip-flops.

02:13:06 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Oh, my gosh.

02:13:09 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 4:

But I think she was just trying to disrespect us because my daughter had a baby before she got married to the guy she's with.

02:13:18 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Oh, okay. I thought maybe she was coming from somewhere else.

02:13:22 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Disrespecting, yeah.

02:13:23 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow.

02:13:24 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 4:

It was the last thing I've ever seen.

02:13:26 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 1:

Because I would have thought that she came from somewhere else. She was, like, out with her friends or something and just goes, oh, crap, I'm going to the funeral. And then Jillian's uncle's pants fell off at the funeral.

02:13:37 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 7:

What? Jillian, what happened?

02:13:40 - 02:13:40 | Unknown:

What?

02:13:41 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 7:

So it was my grandpa's memorial, funeral, whatever you want to call it. Yeah. And my uncle was walking up, my great uncle was walking up to the podium to make an announcement. and as he was walking up, his belt broke and his pants fell to his knees and he couldn't bend to pick it up so my dad had to run up and hold his pants for him while he made me in.

02:14:04 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. That is very funny. And then texters are texting in these. I love it. The celebrities that they say are ugly but they'd still like to bang. Lil Wayne.

02:14:15 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 2:

Ooh, good one.

02:14:16 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Shane Gillis and Amy Schumer all have gotten votes on that one. So those are good. All right. You know what? I like the Friday left. I love it. That's good. All right. Right now we're going to give you. Is this your idea? This was an idea that we were talking on the Joe show. You know, I do a little coaching of Joe show and Tanner and Portland and stuff. And so we come up with these little random things. They're like, what do we do when we have all these topics we can't get to? And I said, why don't we just do like a thing where we just randomly talk about them? You know, you don't always need to grab calls, you know?

02:14:50 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Lydia's leftovers.

02:14:52 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Lydia's, that's a good, whatever.

02:14:54 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 4:

That is so good. Stop it. You know he loves some alliteration. Stop it.

02:14:58 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I'm going to.

02:15:00 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 3:

I tell Joe he's got to call it that on his show, too. There we go. The listeners are going to be like, who the hell is Lydia? That's good. I like that.

02:15:07 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 5:

02:15:39 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 1:

what you got in this hour's dirty on the 30 global travel is all sorts of screwed up right now because one of the world's busiest airports is shut down that is london's heathrow airport it is going to be closed all day today after a small fire at an electrical substation caused a power outage and as you can imagine that doesn't work well for an airport so people who had flights out of there people have from the states who had connecting flights at Heathrow to other spots in Europe or across the globe I mean they are just so unhappy right now can I bring up another

02:16:13 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 3:

airport thing uh so there's this story is pretty interesting I'm gonna play this for you because this is a big deal anybody that's traveling to Orlando for spring break yesterday they had a Southwest Airlines flight where the pilot got on to not the runway to go take off. He was on a taxiway and went on the wrong place. I've always wondered if these pilots... They get confused.

02:16:34 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 6:

And here, take a listen to this report. Tonight, the FAA investigating after a Southwest flight aborted takeoff, the crew mistaking a taxiway for a runway at Orlando International Airport.

02:16:44 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 2:

3278 stop. Stop, Southwest 3278 stop. Cancel takeoff clearance. You're on Hotel Taxiway, Southwest 3278. Southwest 3278, yes, sir. We stopped.

02:16:55 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 6:

Officials saying an air traffic controller canceled the takeoff clearance after the aircraft began its takeoff roll on a taxiway, which runs parallel to the runway. There were no other planes involved. Southwest saying it accommodated customers on another aircraft to Albany. And it comes as investigators are giving a first look at what they say happened during that dramatic crash landing in Toronto.

02:17:16 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 3:

This, by the way, is an interesting story. Listen to this. They finally came out with this.

02:17:20 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 6:

This is the Canadian FAA that did the plane seen flipping upside down, smoke billowing from the fuselage. Examiners pouring over the images. Now, just a month later, the Transportation Safety Board of Canada saying the plane was going very fast, triggering a so-called sink rate alert, warning the pilots of a dangerous descent. The preliminary report saying part of the right main landing gear fractured and the landing gear folded into the retracted position. The right wing struck the ground and broke off. Fuel spilled out of the wing and ignited. Passengers inside suspended upside down, hanging by their seatbelts. Everything, drop it. Come on. All 80 people on board evacuating. Everyone survived, but 21 injured. New images showing that right wing blackened on the ground. 215 feet away from the fuselage and inside the overhead bins popped open, luggage thrown about the upside down cabin. And we're learning the first officer who was flying at the time of the crash had been with Endeavor Air, a subsidiary of Delta, for just over a year and had just over 1,400 total flight hours. The FAA requires 1,500 hours for commercial pilots, but because she had a special aviation degree she was eligible for a certificate allowing her to serve as co-pilot which is

02:18:39 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 5:

standard practice under FAA guidelines. The pilot flying was fully qualified but very inexperienced so the weather was challenging we knew that there were wind gusts of up to 40 miles an hour but this frankly should have been handled there were plenty of other aircraft that were landing

02:18:54 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 3:

just fine that day. We were talking yesterday Shannon and I were and I said when I get on an airplane if it's an old man that's the pilot i'm happy me too like no offense to any newbies i don't want a pilot that doesn't have enough hours doing something like i want the pilot

02:19:10 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 4:

that literally has seen it all yeah aren't all the young pilots like pretty much from the air

02:19:14 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 3:

force not not all of them i don't think i think some people just come right out of school i thought

02:19:19 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 4:

the vast majority of pilots were from the air force where did you get that to the google feel Like, I read it somewhere recently. I trust that.

02:19:27 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 3:

You gotta, I don't trust her.

02:19:28 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 4:

She'd be knowing stuff like that.

02:19:29 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 3:

I don't trust her, and I don't trust a pilot that doesn't have enough hours to be flying in that plane. I think that's crazy that they would allow that to happen.

02:19:36 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 1:

So, Miley Cyrus lost an early bid to dismiss a lawsuit that accuses her of copying Bruno Mars' song When I Was Your Man for her number one song, Flowers. Tempo Music Investments said it owns a share of the copyright in Bruno's song. And I mean, I feel like this has been in the dirty for two or three years. To be fair, Bruno... No, Mars is not listed anywhere on this lawsuit. This is simply the company that has acquired part of the copyright. But they're saying they're thrilled, but not the least bit surprised by the judge's decision. Flowers has over a billion streams, one song of the year at the Grammys back in 2024. Jay-Z and Beyonce may be taking some legal action after Kanye West attacked their twins in a rant on X earlier this week. We talked about this yesterday. He was specifically mocking Rumi and Sir's intelligence, their mental capacity, which is not nice about it in a tweet that was deleted. Then he retweeted it and then he tweeted an additional something about it. So one source telling me they're pissed that Ye has spoken out about their kids in such an offensive manner. Somebody else telling me while they are upset, they have no plans on publicly addressing Kanye's posts about their kids. And lastly, a quick update for listeners of Channel 955 in the Detroit area on that shooting that happened at Corwell Health Troy Beaumont Hospital yesterday morning. We were talking about it during this study. The shooter and the victims were best buddies, worked together in the radiology department at Beaumont. Police said they recently had a falling out. There are lots of rumors as to what that was all about. I don't want to spread any misinformation, so I'm not going to go into it. But the shooter was arrested about two hours later at his home in Macomb. The victim, a 25-year-old man from Troy, he is currently being treated at the hospital for his injuries. He's expected to survive. Police said he was actually able to tell them who shot him.

02:21:34 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you something's going to come out, though, about this more if the news goes after it and figure out. What the motive was? Yeah, like what the story is and stuff. I know that the rumors are out there, but somebody's going to find out for sure. Like, the guy's alive, so he should come out and speak when he's all well and just find out, like, why this guy is doing this thing. I felt bad for anybody that worked at that hospital yesterday because the way that they are prepared to talk about active shooters, they called it an active shooter, but they said that that guy. It was targeted. It was a targeted thing, and they believe that he also was not there for, like, he shot and then ran, so he was gone the whole time. So the whole time that they're looking for the shooter, everybody's freaking out. I watched one of the reports that was on Channel 7 yesterday on their Instagram, and the lady was in getting her mammogram, and she's laying on the table getting her mammogram, and all of a sudden, over the overhead, it said, active shooter, active shooter, and the person given the mammogram said, yeah, we do training for this, so this might be one of those training things. Let me go check. Ran out in the hallway to go ask, and then said, no, this is not. We got to go.

02:22:42 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 2:

I'd be so scared.

02:22:42 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 3:

And you're like, you know, you're there with that gown on that doesn't cover your ass.

02:22:47 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, man. It could just be a me thing, but I think we got to like properly define these situations. Because when I hear active shooter, I think of something totally different than one guy shot a guy.

02:22:59 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 1:

But they didn't know that at the time.

02:23:00 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes. It was. Yeah. You guys want to know the songs that were the biggest songs?

02:23:04 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 1:

Shannon got more talk.

02:23:05 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you do? Are you done?

02:23:06 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

No, I was actually done. Oh.

02:23:07 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 3:

What were you going to do? Were you going to say goodbye? Yeah. Well, let me do the songs first and then you can say goodbye. Just hit the button then. Do you know the top five songs? They are the top five songs. Billboard's Hot 100 Charts this week. Number five. Kendrick, TV off.

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 2:

I get on it. Yeah, somebody got a do it.

02:23:32 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm in it.

02:23:33 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, somebody got a do it. I tell you, G-Pag. Watch, do it. We survived all side off from the music. Whoa. Hey, turn this TV off. Ain't with my type of activity, then don't you get involved.

02:23:44 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 3:

The number four song. Still on here, Taboozie.

02:23:47 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm still not sick of that.

02:23:49 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 3:

You love it, huh?

02:23:52 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 2:

There's a party downtown near Fish Street. Everybody at the bar getting tipped.

02:23:57 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Number three song. Another song are you sick of? No or no?

02:24:00 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 2:

They not like us. Kendrick? They not like us. They not like us. They not like us.

02:24:05 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Number two song. Are you sick of this one yet? I feel like it's the same songs. I feel like these are the same songs from, like, September or something. Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Die With a Smile, number two song in the country. And the number one song in the country is...

02:24:38 - 02:24:39 | Unknown:

02:25:18 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 1:

all for the week that was it at mojo in the morning on social media the latest craze it's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:25:30 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show. Megan got stuck in the elevator. When was this? What time of day night was this?

02:25:40 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 1:

Yesterday at 5.30.

02:25:45 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:25:46 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to guess.

02:25:47 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 3:

Like 5.30 evening?

02:25:48 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:25:49 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

It's almost dinner time.

02:25:50 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:25:51 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 3:

And what kind of an elevator were you stuck in?

02:25:54 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 1:

I was stuck in an elevator at an apartment complex. That was terrifying. So this apartment's like in a building that has other like public access to it, right? And there are two elevators. And now I've learned this lesson. One of them is just for the apartments. And one of them is for the public. And the guy was super nice. And he held the door open for me. And so I get in the elevator and I realize it's going straight to the apartments. and he gets off and I'm like, okay. And then I hit the button for the floor that I need and it's not moving. And I can't get out at the floor that it's at because I don't have a key card for the apartment.

02:26:32 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so the only way that you can get off on a floor is if you are a resident of that particular apartment complex.

02:26:40 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 1:

Correct. So I didn't have a key card and I can't get to any floor on this elevator. And I'm just sitting there like, you can't call anybody. The elevator works. I'm stuck in one I'm not supposed to have access to. And I don't know anybody who has access to get me out of here.

02:26:55 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:26:56 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 1:

So I had to sit there waiting, panicking, thinking about peeing myself. Because that's what I do in a fight or flight is I drop to the floor and pee myself. I literally was like, what do I do? What do I do? And about three minutes later, which felt like an eternity, the elevator started to move. And I'm like, please, dear God, go somewhere where the doors are going to open. And they opened up and I just bolted out of the elevator.

02:27:19 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 3:

Did they open up on an area that you could get out public access to?

02:27:22 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 1:

It's where I entered at.

02:27:23 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 4:

So it went down to the ground floor. So you didn't even have an option because I feel like a lot of times those will give you the option at least to go back to the first level, which like my building is the

02:27:32 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 1:

case. Like if you leave my apartment, I don't have to walk you out. You can get out. It would not go anywhere without a key scan.

02:27:38 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Do they have a button there that's one of those like push for emergency help or anything like that?

02:27:44 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 1:

So they did. And I was like, but if I call them, they're going to say, what's the problem? And I'm going to say, I don't have a key card. It's not like I was stuck between floors or the doors aren't opening or whatever. Like, I just wasn't supposed to be there.

02:27:58 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'd be calling. My claustrophobia would kick in real fast.

02:28:03 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 3:

I felt like an idiot. When you get into one of those situations where you push the button, that person that answers, is it the person that's at the ground level in the security area? Or is it like somebody that works for like an elevator company?

02:28:15 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 1:

I thought it was like 911.

02:28:17 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Is it? Wow. I don't know. To the Googles. Because when I see that happen, when I have, you know, I've been stuck in elevators before. I got stuck in Monty's elevator at his pharmacy in Southfield, and it was stuck in between floors. Literally, I had to call him on my cell phone because I couldn't get anybody to pick up that line. And Monty had to try to pull apart the door. I get to hear him going, hey, Tom, I can see you there.

02:28:43 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 4:

See, that's really scary to me because that's a malfunction of the elevator.

02:28:47 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So per Google, if you press that button, one of three people can answer. It'll connect you to a monitoring service, building security, or a 24-hour call center.

02:28:57 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Well, I feel your panic on this one because I'd be panicking, too. What also is worse to me is you ever get stuck in a parking lot, like garage, where the gate won't open up and you have to push the button to tell the person, hey, this damn thing won't go? And the guy on the other end is like, did you pay? You know, I'm like, yeah, I paid. I'm trying to do the thing. I hate those things.

02:29:22 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 1:

Wouldn't it be funny if you pulled up, you hit that button, did you pay? Oh, I knew I forgot something. Yeah.

02:29:28 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 3:

Has anybody ever been stuck in an elevator? And why is it that immediately you start feeling like the air in there is getting less?

02:29:36 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

And you have to pee and you're hungry. Would you rather be stuck in an elevator alone or with other people?

02:29:42 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 1:

Alone. Establish a pee corner.

02:29:44 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 2:

A million percent alone. I think we have other people in there, bro.

02:29:47 - 02:29:49 | Speaker 1:

No, because the weight of all of us is bringing this elevator down.

02:29:50 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 3:

No, I want people in there so that I at least have somebody keep me company. What if they smell?

02:29:55 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 1:

What if they're weird?

02:29:56 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 2:

What if they fine as hell?

02:29:58 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What if they try to touch you?

02:30:00 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 5:

What's the best case scenario?

02:30:01 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, why are you guys always going to the worst?

02:30:03 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 5:

The difference in girls and guys. What if they have a full pizza in their hands?

02:30:07 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 6:

What if all of a sudden it turns into a porn and next thing you know, you guys are making mad passionate love with each other, right, Kevin?

02:30:14 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 2:

Pizza and porn, I've changed my mind. Telling of our characters on this show.

02:30:19 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 6:

What would you rather have, the pizza or the porn? The pizza.

02:30:22 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 3:

I'd take the porn.

02:30:23 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 6:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number or text is 95500 have you ever been uh stuck in an elevator or where were you stuck i'd like to know that too because that would also be interesting of where uh where you'd get stuck i feel like these buildings that are you know they're so old these elevators are so old and i i know that do you guys get in an elevator and ever look at the last expected uh sign that's on there like they have it on there and you'll look on it, and it'll say 2002 or something like that.

02:30:56 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. They have those little cards in there.

02:30:58 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 2:

The scariest part of an elevator is getting into one confidently, and then hearing the doors kind of clink closed, and you're like, I can't get off now. Yeah.

02:31:07 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea and I got into an elevator, and we get into the elevator, and she pushes the button, all of a sudden it goes, and it starts bouncing up and down a little bit, and she starts panicking, and instantly she's thinking we're just going to die. I'm thinking, oh my God, I thought I lost a little bit of weight like i'm just starting to freak out about what's uh what's going on we used to do that as kids

02:31:29 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 5:

though used to go on the elevator and then when it started to go up or when it started to come down you just jump i hate people who know oh my god you are the people on the ferris wheel that

02:31:38 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 2:

rock it i never go on them anymore they actually say to you if the thing starts random randomly

02:31:43 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 6:

falling the thing that you got to do before you hit bottom is jump otherwise it will screw it will, like, smash your knees in. That's great. Michelle, what's up?

02:31:52 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 4:

Taking the stairs. Hi. So I think I probably got everybody's beat. I was stuck when I worked at the hospital. I was stuck in an elevator with a deceased going to the morgue. No.

02:32:06 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me? That's great. No.

02:32:10 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 4:

It was only three minutes, but like you said, Megan, it felt like forever, and I was traumatized.

02:32:16 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but the person's not talking to you. Nothing's going on, right?

02:32:22 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, obviously.

02:32:24 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 5:

Could you see the body, or did it have, like, one of those white sheets over it?

02:32:29 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it had a sheet on it, but I knew the patient.

02:32:31 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man.

02:32:32 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 2:

But then don't you almost go, I got to pull this sheet back to make sure they're not moving. You know what I mean? Like, I actually trust the body more than the sheet.

02:32:41 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 4:

No, I stayed on my walkie-talkie and talked to somebody the whole entire time.

02:32:44 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 6:

Actually, you start talking to the dead person. Becky, what's going on?

02:32:50 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hey. I had, I was, it was my birthday, and we were in an elevator coming back from the Price is Right Live, and there was about 20 people in the elevator with us, and a lady that was standing in front of me ended up having a seizure. And I was freaking out at first, but I ended up just catching her and letting her lean back on with me because there was nowhere to put her. She couldn't go on the floor. So it was pretty scary, but, yeah.

02:33:21 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man, that's awful. That's the worst. So that answers the question of would you rather be stuck with some people on there or not some people on there, right?

02:33:30 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, definitely.

02:33:33 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 6:

God. What's up, Laurel? Hi.

02:33:36 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Laurel. Hi. um i okay so like the other callers i don't have like crazy stories but i have i used to live in new york my two roommates got stuck in the elevator our landlord was probably like every other new york landlord i called them that they got stuck in the tiny tiny little elevator and the landlord was like deal with it yourself it's after 5 p.m i'm asleep and so i was like okay bet okay i'll figure it out um so my only other option was to call the firefighters like fdny and i called them and then i texted my landlord and i said hey i called fdny like that's the only other option and then he freaked out because he thought he was going to get in trouble so then he was like no no don't do it don't do it so then i was like okay so then i called fdny back and i literally asked them to cancel the fire truck that was coming and they said they said ma'am we can't do that and so i was like okay so i let the fire truck come you guys i don't know if you guys know how hot fdny officers are they it's like it's no it's like beyond the level of like hot firemen and so all these i'm not even kidding like five to six firemen walk into my building i'm like my jaws on the floor they're not even in their uniforms they're in like they're in like their tight little short sleeve shirt

02:35:00 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 3:

You know, and I immediately text my roommate and I'm there in the they're in the elevator. I go, you guys better look so cute when they open this. I was like, you guys better fix your hair. Like, you know, if you're sweating, like, just wipe it off. Like, you better be. Oh, that's funny.

02:35:15 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, and we're what about the landlord? What about the ugly landlord? Did he come by when the hot guys were there?

02:35:21 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 3:

God, no, he never came. He never came. Wow. I miss him, though. Edgar was Edgar was a superstar. Yeah.

02:35:29 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 2:

I love it. I like her. Oh, that's awesome, Laurel. Laurel, you got to call us more often. That was so good. Such a good call. I got a call just a second ago from Ann Pat, or a text. She all right? I feel horrible. I'll let you guys, hold on a second. I'll let you guys know this. She just called and she just texted me with something. And here, I'll read it after I dial the number. Dialing on this new phone systems, thanks.

02:35:56 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, at least is she okay?

02:35:57 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 2:

uh she may not be because she sent me she sent me this text and the text was ready for this it said guess what you forgot oh no

02:36:10 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

she's not gonna answer your phone call was it yesterday i think so you don't even know

02:36:19 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 2:

let's think of something real quick i could get joe biden ready Why is she not answering?

02:36:27 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because she probably blocked your number.

02:36:29 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 2:

Let me check the tracking and then just blame it on, like, it got delayed in customs.

02:36:34 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I can't get to the phone right now. Oh, my God. I just want to get back to you as soon as I can. You're in Australia.

02:36:40 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 2:

She sounds so sad.

02:36:41 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 3:

You're in Australia. So, like, it's her birthday right now.

02:36:45 - 02:36:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Hold on.

02:36:47 - 02:36:50 | Unknown:

It's fine. I know, but it's okay. It's the best we got.

02:36:51 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 2:

You think I'm, but then I have to pretend all day that I was in, that I'm in Australia.

02:36:54 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's one day.

02:36:56 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think?

02:36:57 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 3:

You don't have that on your calendar? Did Chelsea not remind you?

02:36:59 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, no. It was my mom's birthday the day before and I actually did a post with my mom. I saw that. I love that photo. Yeah. And I forgot that Pat. And Pat. Hey. We're live in Australia this morning.

02:37:13 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 3:

Let him have it. Let him have it. Chip on the bobbies.

02:37:16 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 2:

We're live in Australia this morning where we're celebrating your birthday right now.

02:37:22 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can't believe you forgot, Tom.

02:37:25 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 2:

Pat, I didn't mean to forget. I actually wanted to make it special because everybody's going to call and write you a Facebook post and do all that stuff yesterday. But today, nobody gives a rat's ass but me.

02:37:39 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 1:

That's okay. I know you're too busy. No, no, no. I'm never too busy for you.

02:37:44 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm never too busy.

02:37:46 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 1:

I'm not a needy person.

02:37:48 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 2:

No, you are not. Okay.

02:37:51 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not. I'm not a needy person. Just needy of love. I just keep a chart here of who recognizes me from my will. Your will.

02:38:03 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 2:

Who's in your will right now? So who's left in this?

02:38:07 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 1:

In my will, 100% in my will is Olivia first. She's first. That girl calls me no matter what time it is, and she also sings to me and everything, and Miles. Mojo, you know what that means.

02:38:21 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 2:

So Olivia and Miles call us every day. So to get back in the will, I got to call you every day. Watch out. Megan's going to start calling you every day and start singing to you.

02:38:30 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 1:

That's what it takes. I'm in. It was funny, though, that when I turned on your live thing this morning, you were talking about me. I know.

02:38:40 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 2:

I was telling you.

02:38:41 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know why you were saying.

02:38:42 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 2:

Am I right or am I wrong that you talk about Megan all the time? I'm like, Megan, she's so beautiful. I love Megan.

02:38:48 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and the funny thing about it, too, was when you were doing a thing about Sono Bello, it was on my TV, the commercial. Was it really?

02:38:57 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 2:

See that? They're hearing you, Pat. They're hearing you.

02:38:59 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you. No, it wasn't me. I wasn't talking.

02:39:02 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 2:

No, I know, but they heard their commercial. All right, well, I just wanted to, I want to wish you a happy birthday. And just for this, will everybody please wish Aunt Pat a happy birthday today?

02:39:11 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday! Wish her a happy birthday today.

02:39:14 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 2:

Pat gets excited. Sometimes people will actually friend request her or they'll write her a DM and go, hey, do you know so-and-so? And I go, no, I never heard that name before. And then she'll go, yeah, they listen to you all the time. I don't know everyone that listens to their names.

02:39:31 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 1:

What's your favorite social media? I don't say yes to anybody I don't know because, you know, there's a bunch of scammers out there. Yeah, that's smart.

02:39:41 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 2:

Her favorite, you're more of a Facebooker than an Instagrammer, aren't you, Pat?

02:39:46 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm on Instagram. I like Instagram better.

02:39:48 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:39:49 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

There's a guy who I follow because he pops up on my thing and he looks just like Luke. Oh, really? Yeah, he sings songs. He's actually kind of funny.

02:40:00 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 7:

I don't know what his name is. His name is, oh, what the heck is his name?

02:40:08 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 4:

Interesting.

02:40:09 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 7:

He's a country singer.

02:40:10 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 4:

Morgan Wallen.

02:40:12 - 02:40:12 | Speaker 7:

No.

02:40:13 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Karen, what did you want to do for Aunt Pat?

02:40:17 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 6:

Happy birthday, Aunt Pat.

02:40:22 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 4:

What is that? What the hell is that? You got a birthday horn?

02:40:27 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I did the birthday horn for you your last birthday, or maybe the birthday before. And, Pat, don't be upset. Be like Karen. I celebrate my birthday for the whole birthday month, and actually I'll stretch it out the whole year. So I hope you had a good day and enjoy your day today.

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:40:47 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 7:

I don't have enough time.

02:40:49 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 3:

Is that what it sounds like? Yes. Yes.

02:40:51 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 7:

I only have a couple friends, so I can't even do a week. No, Pat, you do. Well, you know what? I'll be your friend, and I will show up. You have no idea. I show up to complete my doctor's offices. Everybody thinks I'm crazy because I love a birthday. So have a good day.

02:41:08 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 4:

I love you. I love you. I love you, Pat. I love you more. Happy birthday. Happy birthday, Pat. Love you the most.

02:41:17 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 2:

It's officially here. Do it for the kids. I'm a model. This is the mojo. What's happening? In the morning show. This is a Mojo in the Morning Show. This is a Mojo in the Morning Show. This is a Mojo in the Morning Show. I'm not wooing that. I feel like there's an extra beat in there.

02:42:34 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm not wooing that. I don't know what happened. You did the same thing last week, something? That's what I'm saying. Are you okay? I feel like it's not me, Shannon. I feel like the beat is off. You're hanging out with white people too much. That's what you're missing to me. I got to go to GLB. You're missing the beat. Welcome to the white side.

02:42:52 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we got a shout-out. Kev, you were in a class yesterday. The class of kids that you read to. Who was it?

02:42:58 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I went to Hicks Elementary. Super shout-out to the entire third-grade class there. Two incredible teachers, Mrs. Canada, Mrs. Schetzler, and Principal Furka, who actually many, many years ago we awarded as, like, Teacher of the Week and brought him a check and went to the school. And now he's the principal. Now he's the principal.

02:43:16 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. That's great.

02:43:17 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday, I'm pet.

02:43:19 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 4:

Love it. I know that. And I know Shannon's out today, too. So have a great day. Be safe. Have a great weekend. Listen to us on our podcast. If you have to go away for a day or two, you'll never miss anything. If you got podcasts coming on the iHeartRadio app, just search Mojo in the morning. Put us in your presets. Put Mojo in the morning. Put our first off, all the three stations, if you'd like. Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM. Then search Mojo in the morning. Put that in there. and put more Mojo. That's another way that you can listen to our After Show podcast. And then the We Don't podcast. It's a great opportunity for you to have us preset and always be able to catch what's going on. See you guys. Bye. 20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up rolling. The instructor, first I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before and hopefully I will end the ship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.
