So, Megan, you realize that you do something in your sleep that you didn't know. And not only do I want to know what it is, but I want to know how you know you know what it is. What is it?

00:05:30 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so my entire life, I have been battling the hardest hardship that I think anybody can go through. Because once it's pointed out to you.

00:05:40 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

Not being able to sleep?

00:05:42 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's worse than that. Oh, okay. It's more traumatizing, I would say, in a way. To the point where I don't want to sleep with a significant other anymore. Because it's been pointed out that it's anymore. You fart in your sleep.

00:05:55 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

You have irritable bowel syndrome.

00:05:58 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, but that doesn't affect me. But the answer is also yes.

00:06:02 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I do.

00:06:04 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

But what hot girls have?

00:06:07 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 2:

Stomach problems.

00:06:08 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Appreciate the backup there. Thank you. Even worse than that is the fact that apparently more and more I have been sleepwalking, sleep talking. And my new favorite, I asked my brother what I did last night when he was freaked out. And he said, I sleep bitch faced. And that was, you know how I take lots of like heavy naps? I was a pure REM cycle at like six o'clock last night. And apparently I had sat up and he thought I just woke up. But like exorcist like sat up in one fluid motion. i huffed really loudly at him and then made the nastiest bitch stank face is what he called it looked him dead into his soul he said and then immediately laid back down and went right back

00:07:06 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 2:

to sleep like you didn't just do that right please tell me he got video or a photo no because it's

00:07:12 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 4:

out of the blue i need a security camera i guess in my living room so that when i sleepwalk we can start catching it but like he said it was so terrifying he thought he was gonna get yelled at he didn't know what he had done wrong didn't even realize i was sleeping huffed at him he was ready for me to start yelling and then just went right back to bed how am i ever gonna have a

00:07:35 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

significant i'm gonna scare the crap out of people you know what though i i will go on record just saying you have deserved to have it if you get woken up from uh dead sleep you deserve to be you know upset about it i don't know yeah but but with that said anybody ever sleep with someone or you know be in a relationship with someone who is an ugly sleeper like an ugly sleeper everybody's looking at me i am i am i think the ugliest in the car

00:08:09 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 3:

oh i see with my mouth wide wide like wider than i could even open it when i'm awake i don't know I don't know how it's possible, but that's just how God made me. Is that a turnoff for people? It is ugly.

00:08:19 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Do people, do you, do, if you're an ugly sleeper or you're with an ugly sleeper, do you get turned off by that? Like, do you like go, oh my God, like person's so hot while they're awake, but when they're sleeping, they are ugly.

00:08:35 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 4:

Can you not tell me that? Ugly bitches. I love how I shared this great experience and then all of them were like, so tell me how ugly you are.

00:08:50 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

She's an attractive sleeper, though. There isn't one person who's out there sleeping. Who? My wife. My wife, when she sleeps, oh, my God, she's like as cute as a bug's ear.

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Disney princess.

00:09:01 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 4:

What's annoying to me are the girls who look good laying down with their eyes closed. I was in Grand Rapids this weekend and I was a little bit tipsy. I was trying to take some thirst traps. I'm not going to lie. I was thirst trapping it up on my private store. And I tried to lay down on the bed, and I immediately went, oh, God, that was a knock to the self-confidence.

00:09:20 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how some girls look hot in bed. Yeah, because that's when all the chins come out.

00:09:24 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. All of them.

00:09:26 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 3:

I look like a dead turtle. It was just like, oh. Yeah. Have you ever slept with somebody who looks dead when they sleep? Because that's worse.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 4:

My wife does that, too, with her eyes open. It scares me.

00:09:37 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

I made that and he crosses his hands over his chest like he's in a casket.

00:09:42 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

And I wake up and it freaks me out.

00:09:46 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

I always sleep on my back with my hands crossed over me and it freaks everybody out.

00:09:49 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 4:

I feel like you would sleep sitting up. You just look like that kind of guy. No. I don't know.

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's inevitable, I guess, as you get older, you start to fall asleep on the couch at 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:10:00 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 3:

haven't done that yet but i realized when like even when we're just laying around at night like like monday and tuesday are meg's nights to watch the bachelor my girlfriend will sit there and watch the bachelor and i just lay on the couch on my laptop and not pay attention well i realized last night i have to switch positions because like megan said all the chins come out when you're laying down and when from the angle that she's looking at me laying on the couch on the opposite side of the room i am a pacific walrus laying there on beached on the with with like seven chins And she probably can't even see my nose Because just my big beer belly in the way And I thought, I gotta switch Where she's looking at me down the other way I'd rather ever look at my receding hairline Look down my face Than look up my body She loves you, your walrus and all Yeah, well, she has to If I'm sitting there keeping her company With that dumb bachelor show

00:10:49 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Dustin? Good, we're talking about people who sleep ugly Turn your radio down, will you? Turn your radio on. I don't want you to get confused. Go ahead.

00:11:02 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 6:

My wife has nightmares and ends up beating me up while she's sleeping.

00:11:06 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Well, that's not just ugly. That's violent.

00:11:09 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:11:10 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 4:

Did you find out what the nightmares are about? Are you in the nightmares or are you just an innocent bystander?

00:11:16 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 6:

I'm an innocent bystander. She's had some things that's happened to her when she was younger. Oh, jeez.

00:11:22 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that sucks. Man.

00:11:24 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

And I just, I'm the lucky guy who gets to deal with it.

00:11:27 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what? that you give her comfort hopefully when she wakes up but question for you uh are you an ugly sleeper or are you a uh a good looking sleeper have you ever asked her about that uh she she'd

00:11:39 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 6:

probably say i'm an ugly sleeper i snore pretty loud do you do you ever fart in your sleep i'm a

00:11:45 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

i'm a sleep farter i do too yeah you ever wake yourself up after you oh yes absolutely mike

00:11:52 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I woke myself up and wait, what is that noise? Who's in my room?

00:11:59 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, Dustin, I appreciate it, man. I hope that your wife is okay, and thank you for calling in.

00:12:06 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 6:

Thank you very much. You guys have a good day.

00:12:08 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

All right, take care of yourself. A couple of texters in here right now says, My wife is an ugly sleeper, but there ain't no way I'm calling you up to go on the radio. Smart. I like that.

00:12:16 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Very smart.

00:12:17 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 4:

That is not good. And resting bitch face is one of those things where people don't really realize it, I don't think, until it's ever pointed out to them. Yeah. But if you're going to have resting bitch face, have it while you're sleeping because who cares, right? And it's not, you know.

00:12:32 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 7:

Apparently, I have it while I'm sleeping, while I'm taking my passport photo.

00:12:35 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 3:

My resting bitch face has been haunting me the passport. It's not really resting much. It's always active.

00:12:40 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you ever since last week, Shannon did a story in her Dirty about how the spas are saying that you should always sleep on your back. Otherwise, you'll get wrinkles and stuff. I've been trying to sleep on my back because I don't want to have to, like, you know, have a facelift. But they say that you get more wrinkles sleeping on your sides. It's the worst sleep ever is on your back.

00:13:05 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 1:

And I am a side sleeper. I am a left side sleeper every single night.

00:13:09 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 4:

It's awful.

00:13:09 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 1:

But you'll snore on your back, again, making me less likely to sleep with any other person.

00:13:15 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 4:

You'll have a beautiful awake face. Steven, what's up?

00:13:19 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 5:

What's up? Yeah, I'm a weird sleeper because I sleep like I'm dead. I cross my arms and everything.

00:13:25 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're like Shannon's fiancée.

00:13:27 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 1:

So scary.

00:13:29 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a dead sleeper.

00:13:30 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 5:

And I even got my son doing it, too. I don't even know why he do it. He just crosses his arms and acts like he's dead.

00:13:36 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

That is scary, by the way. That is scary because whenever you go to a funeral and they have an open casket and you see them there and you're like, why don't they, like, position their arms, like, wave them in the air and keep them up like they just don't care or something like that. Wouldn't it be great? Like, honestly, if I, when I die.

00:13:51 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 5:

Wouldn't that be more scary, you know, like, hey, are you waving at me?

00:13:53 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 4:

No, no, yeah. I want, when I die, I want to have my own position so I'm looking like I'm thinking. Like, I want to underneath my chin, you know.

00:14:00 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 1:

Can you choose? I don't know. Is that, like, a box you'd check when you're painting your funeral?

00:14:04 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 4:

Spike asked him your – Oh, he's had some interesting requests. Yeah. We should see that. Wouldn't that be cool if your hand's sticking out and people could shake your hand while they come up there?

00:14:13 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 3:

A lot of times people will request to hold things like a football or their favorite book. Would that be cool? For Mojo, it would be your remote – your clicker. Exactly.

00:14:22 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 4:

Or a ham sandwich. What's up, Jessie?

00:14:26 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

00:14:27 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 4:

00:14:49 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

you need to get evaluated oh my god the the restless leg thing is real too because you'll be kicking people in the middle of the night right yes yes wow you know don't sleep next

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 3:

00:15:08 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 6:

Can't wait.

00:15:27 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 3:

00:18:35 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 7:

It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s***.

00:18:42 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 2:

This country is going to s***.

00:18:44 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 6:

You got it on Mojo.

00:18:46 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 7:

It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

00:18:49 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 4:

This is Mark. Hey, Mark, how are you this morning? Pretty good. Good, it's Mr. Bob Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Survey. I've just got 30 seconds of your time here if we're going to ask you a couple quick questions. As a citizen, would you be willing to let us use federal tax money to find a way to make sponges more absorbent? No. Which side are you rooting for in the war on drugs? Which sides are there? It's basically an open-ended question. I can't really feed you an answer for the survey.

00:19:19 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 5:

Uh, the abstainers.

00:19:23 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 4:

And how often do you play with your Wii?

00:19:26 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 5:

I don't have one.

00:19:28 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 4:

If there were a breakfast war, do you think the French toast would surrender to the English muffin? No. Instead of road salt in wintertime, should we use road pepper? Since it's already black, it'll blend in nicer?

00:19:40 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 5:

Something like that, yeah.

00:19:41 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 4:

How much longer do you think Dippin' Dots will be the ice cream of the future?

00:19:45 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 5:

oh probably my lifetime at least and on a scale of one to ten how cuddly are you

00:19:53 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

you have to ask my wife that one are you looking forward to practicing some voodoo this summer nope who do you think would win in a fight

00:20:00 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 3:

between munchkins and leprechauns? Leprechauns. Would you like to see hard liquor come in juice box form? No. What's your nickname around town? I don't have one. Should we come up with one? No. Because I could help you. I'm pretty good at them. Bill, we about ready to wrap this up. I got to get going. Oh, yeah, I just have two questions left. What's the last thing you shot with a crossbow? Too many things to remember. All right. And how long are your dreadlocks? I think we're over on our questions.

00:20:32 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 1:

All right. That's one of those guys where I would probably suggest we don't call him back. Very, very tough man there. It's the Senseless Survey here on Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:46 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Love Rice Krispie Treats. Trav, you're going to hear nothing for a second here, and then you're going to hear Lydia, who is our director of the show. 00:29:08 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Hey. Okay, so I just talked to Kaylee's school, and Kaylee's in trouble. for what she um she got caught vaping in the bathroom at the school and she said she got it from you yeah so the school is requiring that you and her come here to participate in a vape safety class and they better tell it that I did not do that yeah they said that you're a bad

00:29:49 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 2:

No, no, that is absolutely. She is trying to protect someone else, but it ain't me. Okay. She probably figured that grandma's in Colorado, so she won't get in trouble. yeah probably but i mean she's already she's already in trouble and you guys have to do this class together me to come to michigan or to michigan tell her she better come clean tell her okay come up here and they're they're saying that your grandma's a bad influence is that really what you want them thinking about your grandma well i i have to go meet with her here soon and they want me to like sign up for this class i don't know how to tell them that you won't be there nope tell her she better come clean says it ain't me okay so the principal's on the

00:31:16 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're the vaping grandma.

00:31:19 - 00:31:24 | Speaker 2:

No, I am not. I am absolutely not. And that little girl better come clean.

00:31:24 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got to be honest with you, Grandma. This is principal building, and we've got an issue here that is not good.

00:31:33 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 2:

Take me home It's Grandma Claudia

00:33:32 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 2:

Thank you to the texters, by the way, that told me I don't know John Denver songs

00:33:40 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

because it's the wrong song, so that's all right. This is the better one, yeah. Rocky Mountain High, Take Me Home is a little different, but everybody knows this song, right? Come on. It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mom. mojo in the morning mojo spike shannon megan mike our producer kpr director lydia good to have you guys here with us today so got to uh tell you that i got really lucky yesterday i got pulled over for speeding and i didn't get a ticket and it was something that was on my passenger seat of my car that got me out of the ticket tell me what it is because i've never gotten out of a ticket it was a police officer friend no i was gonna say i just drive around with another police officer and i just do no honestly when i tell you this story i want you to share with me what got you out of a ticket because i know that there are those that will get pulled over and you'll get written up a majority of time that probably happens but then there are certain times where you can catch a police officer at the absolute right

00:35:00 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 5:

time of their life and they will let you go or maybe police officers will call us up and tell us like what is it that has let you let somebody go uh we don't have to say what police force that you work for or you know county you know local town this was actually in a local town and i won't say what it was because i don't want the guy to get you know in trouble or called out for what he did but i thought what he did was actually kind of cool because i didn't get the ticket so that's why i thought it was cool i got pulled over and he told me that i was going 50 in a 35 and when he pulled me over he saw something on my passenger seat and he said are you a spartan and i said well no i'm not really a spartan but my son's going to go to michigan state next year but i guess i'm a spartan you know and i kind of like was stumbling along because i'm i'm like so fearful like trying to find my title and my you know registration and my yeah all that stuff yeah insurance um and he and he goes oh your son's gonna go and he goes yeah he goes just an awful situation that happened there and i'm like okay oh okay yeah yeah talking about the the the shooting that happened and he said yeah he said i feel for those kids he goes it was it was just horrible you know and he started talking kind of engaging me in conversation for a moment or two and he had my stuff in his hand and he wasn't looking at it wasn't doing anything with it he was just kind of talking and then he said you know I'm rooting for them to to win uh in the uh the March Madness because I think that it would be a great way to honor those three that that you know that died and all those that got hurt and I said to him I go you know what I never honestly never thought about that but that is actually pretty you know pretty awesome to know that you know here's a team that nobody expected to be even make it the sweet 16 and they made it to the sweet 16 But so we kind of got into a conversation about that. And he looks at my license for a second and then goes, hey, let's drive safe and gave you my stuff back and then let me go. What? Yes.

00:37:04 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:37:05 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 5:

So all you have to do is be a Spartan fan. I can't.

00:37:09 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 1:

That's a reason right there to be a Spartan fan.

00:37:10 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 5:

Come on. You can do it. Fake it. Just be a fake Spartan fan. Be a Walmart Spartan or whatever. I don't know. That doesn't rhyme with Walmart Wolverine. be a speedway spartan there you go maybe they sell stuff at speedway um but but i i uh i sat there and i and i thought for a second before i put the car by the way do you ever do this you ever get pulled over whether you get the ticket or don't get the ticket and you're afraid to pull out because you don't want like to do something really bad yeah so i do the opposite i try and

00:37:43 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 3:

pull out really fast and get going while he's still getting organized in his paperwork and his computer and seatbelt on and i try and get away from him before he gets on the road next to me for the next six miles did you ever peel out though no no no i'm knocking on wood because it's

00:37:56 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 4:

been such a long time since i've been pulled over and now that i say that's gonna happen but the anxiety of getting pulled over like i can feel it in my test right now have have you ever

00:38:07 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 5:

gotten out of a ticket though like have they have they always given they've always given you one

00:38:10 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 4:

i've always gotten a ticket um i'm also very honest like the last time i got a ticket was over here um on like maple and orchard lake road and remember for a while they had those neighborhoods there closed or they had the road there closed um because they were they were putting in those roundabouts it was a couple years ago and i cut through a neighborhood even though there was a sign that said do not cut through the neighborhood and so the guy pulled me over i could have lied and said i live here i'm looking at a paint color on a house or whatever and i'm like i'm so sorry i saw the sign and i still cut through uh i'm i get way too nervous no honesty did not get me out The only time I've ever actually gotten out of a ticket is when I had a friend go to court for me for the ticket, so I wouldn't have the points. And had them fight it for you. But I've never gotten out on the spot.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 5:

Is it Shane or Shan?

00:38:54 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Shan.

00:38:56 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Shan? We're talking about getting out of a ticket, and I got pulled over yesterday and got out of one. It happened to you, too.

00:39:03 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Now, this was back when I was in high school, but I played football for Davison Football. and a local cop let me go. I was speeding down the road because I had to go over to the high school and go to practice, oddly enough. But, yeah, he let me off. And he was a fan of the school?

00:39:25 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Wow. You know what? That's kind of cool. Were you in uniform or did you have a jersey on or what?

00:39:31 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had the jersey on and everything too, yep.

00:39:33 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You know what? That's cool. I wonder if he had a kid that was on the team or something like that. Chelsea, what got you out of a ticket?

00:39:40 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Um, I was coming home from work. I'm a former EMT and I was in uniform and I actually wasn't speeding. My plates were expired and cause I hadn't been to the secretary of state. And when the cop pulled me over, he saw me in uniform and just

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 8:

told me to fix it and don't let it

00:40:01 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 2:

happen again. Yeah. You know what? I would think that they wouldn't write up somebody that they probably will work with at a scene of an accident. I've heard that police officers won't write up doctors, too, because their fear is that, God forbid, they ever have to go to the hospital. They face that doctor or, you know. So that's interesting. Or nurses, too, I would think. Pauline, hi. Hi. Hey, what got you out of a ticket?

00:40:25 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 8:

So I went to the gas station yesterday where I live with my kids And I pulled out, and I pulled right out in front of a cop yesterday. And so I pulled over, and he looked at my license. He goes, oh, you live here? And I said, yeah. He goes back to his car. He comes back. He's like, well, just be careful next time. He's like, but I'm just letting you go because you live here.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Was it the local township police guy?

00:40:51 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Yep. He's seen that I had my kids in the car.

00:40:54 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome.

00:40:55 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 8:

And as soon as he came to the window, I said, I'm so sorry. He goes, for what? And he kind of laughed. And I said, I pulled right out in front of you. I'm so sorry.

00:41:04 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That was probably good.

00:41:05 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 3:

Like Shannon said, you just own up to it sometimes. You're just polite, and it's enough to get out.

00:41:09 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 2:

I heard a cop friend of mine told me that he will not write a ticket if he sees a nice family in a car, and they don't have the really expensive vehicle and all that stuff.

00:41:21 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 3:

You're that, Megan, you need to kidnap a few kids.

00:41:23 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 8:

Well, yeah, usually when I have my kids, I feel like that's when I get older.

00:41:27 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 2:

This is not fair. He said that if he sees that it would be a struggle for you to have to pay the ticket, he doesn't want to write you a ticket.

00:41:35 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 6:

That's really cool.

00:41:36 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

So kind of Robin Hooding it, I guess. What's going on, Kim?

00:41:42 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 4:

Yes. When I got pulled over, I put the windows down, and I used it as a teaching moment. I had both my daughters ask questions, and the police officer was so polite to them but never wrote me the ticket.

00:41:53 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 1:

That is smart. Smart and smart. Smart, you know, to get out of the ticket and smart as a mom.

00:41:59 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 3:

I got pulled over on the Ohio Turnpike. And so same thing. I put all the windows down and figured, well, I'll let him see that's the whole family going on a vacation. And as soon as he walks up to the window, Natalie in the backseat goes, Dad was speeding. He said he knew he was speeding. Totally turned me out. I was going to leave her on the side of the road after that.

00:42:20 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

We have a cop on with us right now, Doreen. Officer Doreen, are you there? Oh, no, you're not an officer. Good morning, Dave. I'm sorry. Hold on. No, hold on. I'm going to come to you in a second. Actually, I'll go to you first, and then I'll get the officer. What's going on, Doreen?

00:42:34 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 7:

So I got pulled over, and the cop asked me for my number. If I give him my number, he could not give me a ticket. Oh, my God. That's creepy.

00:42:45 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 2:

That, by the way, could get him in huge trouble.

00:42:47 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 7:

I gave him my old number.

00:42:48 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you gave him a fake number?

00:42:50 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. But the last time I got pulled over was right in front of my kids' school and the high school, and all of their classmates were sending snaps of me being pulled over.

00:43:02 - 00:43:02 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:43:03 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 7:

And they're like, Mom, leave. Mom, leave. And I'm like, I can't. I'm just getting pulled over.

00:43:08 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 3:

Sounds like you got a heavy foot on the gas pedal. Maybe you better get a few more fake numbers.

00:43:14 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 2:

JB, you're a cop. How you doing, JB? Not too bad, guys. How you doing? Good, man.

00:43:19 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 3:

Just to be clear, you never ask for numbers of anybody you pull over.

00:43:23 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 5:

No, definitely not. You might get yourself in trouble, so I try and avoid that.

00:43:29 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 2:

What is it that will get somebody out of a ticket if they get pulled over by you, officer?

00:43:34 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 5:

You know, so I have kind of a list. I mean, obviously, you don't want to mess with the people that make your food. If you frequent there, there's a guy pulled over, and he's like, Oh, hey, I see you all the time over here. And I was doing a stop. I was like, I'm going to give this guy a ticket. Oh, yeah, they'll be spitting on your burger if you do that. Oh, yeah, and then I recognized him. I'm like, I like this sandwich shop, and I seen him back, so I gave him a warning. And last week, I actually pulled the guy over, and he was like, I am late for work, and I asked him where he works, where he's at the coffee shop. I let him go. I followed him to the coffee shop, and I got myself coffee.

00:44:06 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, good for you. He was probably so scared you were behind him the whole way. Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:44:13 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 5:

And when I pulled up, I was like, hey, this guy's late. It's my fault, you know. But, I mean, we have a lot of discretion when we can write tickets, you know, and some people obviously deserve them.

00:44:24 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 3:

What's the one thing people do if you're on the fence about giving them a ticker now? What's the one thing they do that you're definitely going to give them a ticket if they do?

00:44:32 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

If they start trying to argue about something simple and like, hey, this is what I saw, and they want to argue it and they start getting rude, it's like, okay, well, if you want to argue this, then we can argue this in court. I'm not going to play the game. I try and be understanding I don't like writing people tickets for something simple Like a light Get it fixed If I see it in a week or so You're going to get a ticket then But people have lives to live They've got jobs to

00:45:00 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 3:

get to, as long as they're not putting other people at risk, I don't have an issue with just pulling them over, giving them a warning. I don't want to ruin somebody's day, but

00:45:08 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 6:

there are people

00:45:10 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 3:

that have a little more leniency because of what they do. I'm a fact that I heart, and I like to eat.

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

I love it.

00:45:19 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 6:

JB, thank you, buddy. Appreciate it.

00:45:22 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 9:

By the way, today's the day I'm nervous about. Two of the last three times I've been pulled over, It was racing to a school to read to kids for March's Reading Month. So today I'm going to Dearborn, and I want to make sure, you know, I leave early enough here because I don't want to make it a three-timer.

00:45:38 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 6:

Is that your way of shouting out to cops that—

00:45:41 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 9:

Yes, anyone from between Farmington and Dearborn.

00:45:45 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 6:

Ann, what's up?

00:45:46 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. I'm from Michigan, but I was in Indiana this weekend, and I was lost looking for my daughter's college house. And I ran a stop, and apparently I went around the block twice, according to the cop, and did not use my signal. And I did not even know he was behind me. Anyway, he pulled up, and I said, oh, my God, I'm so glad you pulled me over. He tilted his head like a dog that heard a high sound and went, what? Like, who says that? And I said, I'm lost. I said, look at my phone. I'm .2 miles away from this house, and I can't find it. Anyway, he did not give me a ticket, and he led me to the house. Oh, that's awesome.

00:46:22 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 6:

That's incredible. What a good guy. And then this is one way to get out of a ticket. What happened to you, Chris?

00:46:31 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 5:

Well, I wasn't feeling well. I was, I don't know, about two miles from home, I was doing maybe 70 and a 55, and a cop pulled me over. I pull into a church parking lot, and I am trying not to be sick. I roll my window down. He comes up to me. I don't even believe he asked me for my license and registration, and I threw up. Oh, jeez. I either threw up on the passenger side of my car, which would have been really stupid, or I would have done it on the left side. So I threw up. Some got on him. I mean, of course. Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. I have no idea. I wish I could see this police officer this year to apologize

00:47:24 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 2:

alright sir do you know why I pulled you over I don't know officer cause you suck and you feel like being a dick no it's because you're speeding through Mojo in the morning

00:47:33 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 1:

Mojo wake yo ass up in the morning I always wake up to Mojo in the morning

00:47:40 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30

00:47:44 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 6:

we'll get you caught up on what's trending right now Shannon what's going on in this hour's dirty

00:47:47 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, a little update for you on a big story from yesterday. Amanda Bynes remains hospitalized for some mental health issues that she's experiencing. And we're learning a little bit more about what had been going on to lead up to that point. She essentially was experiencing a psychotic break following extreme weight loss due to suspected prescription drug abuse when she was found naked and wandering the streets of downtown LA on Sunday morning. And sources tell me the former actress currently weighs less than 100 pounds. She's just not in good shape. Yes, some substance abuse was the case there. Again, prescription drugs. Now, for years, Amanda was under a conservatorship where her family and the courts could monitor her behavior and her treatment. She was released from that conservatorship almost a year ago to the day, actually, after a judge declared it was no longer needed. And again, her parents did say yesterday that they do not plan on recreating or reestablishing that conservatorship at this point. 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey has been ordered to attend anger management classes and some alcohol anonymous meetings a year after. He was real aggressive with a female photographer. This happened last year in Beverly Hills. Nick was leaving dinner with his wife, and he just kind of went ballistic after he realized he was being photographed by a woman named Jodi Santos, who was sitting in a car across the street, walked up to her car. He reached through the window, attempting to grab her cell phone and just actually have an audio of what happened that night.

00:49:23 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 8:

Why are you so mad for her? Kali, I'm a girl. I'm just a photographer. Why is this still a thing? Yeah. Why are you so rude and hitting the window? But why are you hitting the window?

00:49:29 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, according to police docs, Nick was charged with assault and battery that night.

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 8:

Looked over at Mastro's restaurant, and I saw Nick Lachey and his wife standing out front, so I started to take pictures. He got really upset and came running over, and

00:50:00 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 3:

and he punched my window, almost broke it. And then he started to walk away, and I rolled my window down, and then he made a big ruckus, and I presumed he was drunk because he was really acting weird and stuff. I did smell alcohol, and I even told him. I said, are you drunk? I can smell alcohol.

00:50:13 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, a little anger management, some AA meetings.

00:50:17 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? This is Nick Lachey, and I love listening to Shannon's Dirty on the Thursday. Not today. Except for today.

00:50:24 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 4:

So one of the stars of the Goldbergs, Wendy McClendon, McClendon Covey, excuse me, she plays the mom on the show and her onscreen husband, Jeff Garland. Well, former onscreen husband, because remember, he was killed off the show. He had to be written off the show because there were some H.R. complaints about his onset behavior. Well, for the first time she's talking and she said this was a long time coming.

00:50:50 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 5:

That was a long time coming and that it finally happened. it was like okay finally someone is listening to us but that was kind of hard though because we had lost george seagull and then to have to go through another loss on a sitcom you know it's you can't keep asking your audience to mourn people and uh i'm sorry and my mic up i was watching that

00:51:14 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 1:

roseanne uh show what is it conners or whatever the conners and first off that show is the most Unfunny show ever on television I don't understand But it just misses like her on the show Does the Goldbergs miss him Because he was the funny guy on the show

00:51:29 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

I've never actually checked out the Goldbergs To be fair So I don't know But I think there always is that gaping hole When it's one of the bigger characters on the show And then all of a sudden they're not there anymore I don't know

00:51:40 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 3:

I watched the first couple of seasons of the Goldbergs I did fall out of it His dad is very one note

00:51:46 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 4:

It's the same joke So you're not missing much?

00:51:50 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 1:

He's one note, or his father that died was one note, George Segal. Which one are you talking about?

00:51:56 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 4:

Jeff Garland or George Segal? Because they killed them both off the show. The one that's, I don't know, the dad, the Goldberg dad, I don't know.

00:52:03 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 1:

The Goldberg, oh, so the younger, like, okay, yeah, I know what you're talking about. She's talking about Jeff Garland.

00:52:08 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

00:52:09 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 1:

He's very good on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

00:52:10 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:52:11 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 1:

He's really good on that show.

00:52:12 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. And Renee Hurtado is the Taylor Swift fan who went viral when... Nelly Hurtado? No, when Hurtado. When videos of her wedding at a Taylor Swift show in Arizona over the weekend. Is this the one you were talking about yesterday? Yes. So she got married, like literally had a wedding in the crowd at Taylor's show on Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona. She actually went to the show the night before as well to figure out a quiet time to exchange vows for the next night. Oh my gosh, she afforded that, right?

00:52:44 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Rich lady.

00:52:46 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 3:

I really thought like the whole concert, I was like, damn, there's like no good time to do this. Her production is so loud. Like, it's really hard to get married during a concert.

00:52:58 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 4:

So she found a part in the show on Friday night when Taylor recites a poem and then goes into her song Invisible String. And she was like, that's the perfect part because that's the song I was going to walk down the aisle to anyway.

00:53:08 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 3:

But it really turned out that like that was like so perfect. I'm just like, OK, we'll do it during the seven poems so that we could hear each other. That was like a concern. So during during that time, it was just perfect. It really just I swear Taylor Swift planned it. So we did. We got married during the seven poems.

00:53:30 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 1:

Is it just me or yesterday? I thought it was a cute story. Now, knowing she went to two Taylor Swift shows, I kind of hate her. Oh, my gosh.

00:53:38 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 4:

I do. She said she's still going to have a big wedding. She's rich.

00:53:41 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 1:

Nobody, people can't get to watch one show.

00:53:44 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

No, those fans were crazy. Some of them got lucky because they're super fans and followed all the, like our old intern, Louise. She got three different shows, and she said she got them all face value. I know. Yeah, but face value is already expensive. Under $200. Yeah. It depends on where you're sitting. All right.

00:54:02 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:54:19 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Spike, you have words and phrases that should be banned.

00:54:24 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 2:

We've got to stop saying these. And the list has been increasing. And you guys can add to the list, too. But I'm literally so sick of the word literally. Stop. Like, 99% of the time, whatever follows literally is not literal. Like, yesterday, someone's like, I'm literally going to explode. I'm like, you're not literally going to explode. Like, you're just not. So literally is being overused.

00:54:50 - 00:54:51 | Speaker 5:

This feels targeted.

00:54:52 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even get to this. I didn't even get to the other ones yet.

00:54:55 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 5:

I literally feel attacked right now.

00:54:58 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, then you won't like this one either.

00:55:00 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 4:

can't even.

00:55:01 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

I can't even. So this is the Megan make list. Yeah, I'm not saying that.

00:55:05 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 4:

What else is on there? You can even. It's just run its course, these words. We've been using them for so long. Like, why are we still saying low-key? Low-key? I'm like, it's kind of overused at this point. Is this you too, Megan?

00:55:21 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 2:

No, you just sound like, get off my lawn right now.

00:55:24 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 4:

I just think they're tired phrases.

00:55:26 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 1:

It's so funny. yesterday I was on Instagram and somebody had reposted this there's a real famous live music venue in New York City called The Continental and they have a sign stuck on their door that said sorry but if you say the word literally inside Continental you have five minutes to finish your drink and then you must leave if you actually start a sentence with literally you leave immediately take your Kardashianism somewhere else

00:55:54 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 4:

How about living my best life Apparently we've all been doing it

00:56:00 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, I was literally about to say Let me live my life to Shannon And then you have to listen to that This list is literally Just making fun of young people

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 5:

It's okay for you to say literally If you say it like that Literally

00:56:18 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 2:

That's from Parks and Rec

00:56:21 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 5:

So you think that This is only young people that say it You know when you should stop saying it

00:56:26 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

When the old people start saying it And that's what I think all these phrases are now It's like the old people are saying it Which means you gotta move on

00:56:33 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 2:

Mummers are not out in the streets saying low key

00:56:36 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 5:

Well I'll be honest with you

00:56:38 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 3:

They are they're just doing it low key Yeah exactly

00:56:40 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 5:

That's when you know There's a certain age that you can say Some of these phrases and then once you get past a certain age If you say it you are the old person Saying a young person phrase

00:56:52 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 1:

I heard my mom say sus the other day, and I was like, huh? What did you just say? I won't say sus. I'm too old to say sus. And she says it because my kids say it. Smith and Luce say it. So I think she got it from them, and now she was using it. I'm like, what?

00:57:06 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 2:

You prefer us to use words like hip and groovy?

00:57:09 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 1:

What are you looking for here? I think we need to bring those back. Hip, groovy, rad. I wish we could bring back wicked. Wicked.

00:57:16 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's all cyclical, right? They'll all eventually come back for a little while.

00:57:20 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Cassie?

00:57:22 - 00:57:25 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Spike, this is boomer behavior.

00:57:27 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 4:

Are you feeling targeted because I pointed out that these words have been used a long time? I mean, things need to retire after a while. They're just cliches at this point.

00:57:37 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 6:

Literally boomer behavior.

00:57:41 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call, Cassie. Appreciate it. Any other phrases that should be up there?

00:57:47 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, I saw someone post a sweat sesh yesterday on Instagram.

00:57:52 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 5:

What is a sweat sesh?

00:57:54 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 4:

Just say I'm working out. Like, I'm pretty sure if you say.

00:57:57 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 5:

They call it a sweat sesh?

00:58:00 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. If you say that out loud at Planet Fitness, the lunk alarm is going to go off.

00:58:03 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, please tell me you never have done sweat sesh.

00:58:05 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I've ever said sweat.

00:58:07 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 5:

Please.

00:58:07 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 1:

I say a lot of things that are overused, but not sweat sesh.

00:58:10 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, sweat sesh.

00:58:11 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 1:

I can't even say it. Sweat sesh.

00:58:12 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 5:

Or it's not even so much overused. It's like dumb. Like when people will say something like that.

00:58:18 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 1:

I am very guilty of saying, like, using text phrases in, like, I say BRB all the time. And I know it's annoying, but I say it all the time. Yeah.

00:58:27 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 5:

Emily, you are one that does not like sus.

00:58:32 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Good morning, guys. Good morning. My son is 12, and at first he started using the word, like, last year from a video game. And then him and I have a really open relationship. So if you talk about something that happened at school or with his friends, I'm like, was it sus? they'll be like yeah and they'll be like okay i don't need to know then so it became a word i

00:58:53 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 5:

started using and i hate it oh gosh do you ever get called out by people when you use it oh yeah yeah yeah uh they should call yourself out i like that it's the people that don't know that aren't aware that that are the ones that we're talking about oh uh this one this one mike's

00:59:09 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 4:

going to disagree with but every year webster's put out the list of what should be retired because It's overused. And at the end of the year, last year, they said goat. Calling someone the goat is too overused.

00:59:21 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 5:

Goat is only to be used for Tom Brady, and that's it. Nobody else is a goat.

00:59:26 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 3:

Michael Jordan is a goat. Well, yes. But he's, yes. You can't call your best friend the goat of eating spaghetti. You know what I mean? You can't use it for everything.

00:59:34 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 2:

KP called herself the goat today.

00:59:36 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 3:

Did she?

00:59:36 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 2:

She did because I'm the, I'm not going to say anything. Never mind.

00:59:40 - 00:59:41 | Unknown:

I loved it.

00:59:41 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 2:

I loved it. She was like, if you're the only one, you are the GOAT. And I was like, all right. It stayed until 5 yesterday trying to figure out all our tech issues, and I am officially calling myself the GOAT. That's very GOAT-like, yes. That's good.

00:59:54 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. You deserve it, yes. You can call yourself that. I don't deserve that.

00:59:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Stacy.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:00:01 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 9:

Hi. I don't have a voice, so I'm going to make it fast. But the phrase that I hate is, sorry, not sorry.

01:00:09 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay. Well, you also hate it, too, because the person's saying that to you, probably for a reason. Jason, there's something that Megan says that drives you crazy.

01:00:21 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. The word zooted drives me absolutely nuts.

01:00:24 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 3:

It does? Oh, really?

01:00:26 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, we know that she was saying it wrong, we found out, too.

01:00:30 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 5:

What was that?

01:00:30 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Megan was saying it wrong from what we found out.

01:00:33 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 3:

It changed culturally in fact.

01:00:34 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't think she was saying it wrong. I just think the person that said that was old.

01:00:39 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 3:

But keep going. Keep going.

01:00:41 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the entire word is wrong.

01:00:43 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay, why? Do you think it's for harder drugs? I forgot what time it was.

01:00:48 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 6:

I feel like the generation wanted to make up a word to be cool, and they couldn't think of any other word besides suited.

01:00:55 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was used. It was just used for a different drug.

01:00:57 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. As long as you say Zooted and tooted at the same time If you can say zooted and tooted then it's okay

01:01:04 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 3:

If country music is playing in the background You're also a little bit booted

01:01:07 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 2:

Holly what's your word

01:01:12 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 7:

Bra

01:01:13 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 2:

Bra

01:01:14 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 7:

Happy mom's worst nightmare of a word Like bra My son and daughter Not to bro

01:01:23 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 1:

My son and daughter call me different variations of it. I get called bro-ham. I get called bra-brah every day. Oh, my gosh.

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 10:

Wait, that's funny. I got the text from...

01:01:33 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 4:

My daughter Natalie texted me last night. Bro, this is the fifth direct COVID exposure in five weeks because her roommate's got COVID now. I'm just like, bro. I'm like, do you talk like that to the doctor? Bro.

01:01:43 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jackie?

01:01:45 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 9:

Yes.

01:01:46 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:01:46 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 9:

Okay, the one thing... Hi, I'm sorry. The one thing that I despise, my kids are not allowed to say to my house is my bad. I hate to hear adults say my bad. I hate to hear my kids say, my bad. And when their friends go over to the house, if they're talking, and they'll be like, oh, my bad. My kids will look at them and say, no, don't say that. I can't stand it. And I told them, I said, you know, if you have to apologize about something, say, I'm sorry, or my apologies. But don't ever say, my bad. I hate that, too. Oh, I despise that. When I hear a girl say it to me, I just look like, hmm. But I know people say it.

01:02:24 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I want to cross you. Honestly, I will never say it ever again, Jackie, just because of you.

01:02:30 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God. My bad. Just irks my soul.

01:02:34 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 2:

We are going to do a phone scam right now on Mojo in the Morning. We are phone scamming Ari. She works at a restaurant that does takeout, but they're pretty slow in the morning. And we're going to have the world's slowest talker spike talk here. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. Let's test her patience here.

01:02:56 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 4:

You're home with the phone scams. I'm about to disrespect you right now. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:03:04 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 7:

01:03:48 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 8:

01:04:01 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 8:

01:04:40 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 4:

01:04:43 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 8:

01:04:47 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 4:

One time, I drove by you on the way to my speed reading class.

01:04:56 - 01:04:58 | Unknown:

Oh, okay. Where do you take speed reading?

01:05:00 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 6:

01:05:13 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 3:

And you take speed reading there?

01:05:14 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 6:

I do.

01:05:15 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, how's that working out? You like it?

01:05:22 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 6:

It's exhilarating.

01:05:25 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that sounds exhilarating.

01:05:27 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 6:

And I'm going to read your menu.

01:05:31 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Because you take speed reading.

01:05:47 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 6:

01:06:02 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Where else would you put the olives?

01:06:07 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 3:

I could put the olives, any food you'd like me to put the olives in.

01:06:16 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 6:

But not in a salad?

01:06:18 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 3:

If you ask me, I'm going to put it in the salad just for you.

01:06:22 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 6:

I don't like olives.

01:06:24 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 3:

I gotcha. I'm not going to put it in your salad.

01:06:27 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 6:

01:06:46 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Did I win something?

01:06:48 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 6:

01:07:37 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning!

01:07:41 - 01:07:45 | Unknown:

What's up? What's up? What's up? What's up? Make some noise.

01:07:48 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 4:

For Mojo, Mike Shannon.

01:07:50 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 1:

coming up here in moments on the mojo in the morning show john mayer's in town i uh was just told by zach our good friend here that it's his acoustic show and it's tonight and we got tickets but here's what we're going to be doing we are going to be doing Mojo's Hookup Hotline. We figure since it's John Mayer, I mean, come on, tell me that that crowd's not going to be the most gorgeous crowd ever.

01:08:26 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 5:

And if it's acoustic, that's romance.

01:08:28 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 1:

So here's what we want you to do. Gay, straight, whatever you are, if you want to hook up with somebody, if you want to meet someone without having to do a swipe or have to wait for somebody to call you back, we want to do Mojo's Hookup Hotline, our own dating service. Call us up right now if you're willing to take part in a little contest that we're going to do here on the show where you'll meet somebody that might actually turn out to be somebody you like.

01:08:58 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 5:

So don't text us if you're in a relationship or you're going to end up on War of the Roses tomorrow.

01:09:02 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, right. You get yourself in trouble. If you're single, gay, straight, whatever it might be, whoever you want to go on a date with, we have it for you. Call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, and then it will give all of us an opportunity to kind of hear what a first date potentially could sound like because usually that first awkwardness is the part that I always am interested in. Like what do people talk about on dates? Remember yesterday we were talking about like things not to bring up on a date. We'll see if anybody was listening yesterday morning. Hopefully they don't mention any of the five things when they have an opportunity to talk to each other on the radio. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. It is time now. It is time now to give away a baby. It is our Mojo in the morning. Mojo gives you a baby promotion. Dr. Shama is back with us. I know we only have a short time with Dr. Shama. This man is busy.

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 3:

praying, Dr. Shama, when we do this, we do it at an appropriate time for you, because I don't want it to be that you're in the midst of talking with your patients or doing a procedure. You would never answer the phone in the middle of a procedure, would you?

01:10:13 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I would not, by the way. Good morning to you. Good morning. And again, congrats to the winners, whoever you guys are going to name at this point. Dr. Shama, you are

01:10:27 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 3:

awesome and I could listen to you talk all the time. I say this all the time but there is nothing better and your children are beautiful but let me just say this to you. They probably needed you to be the person reading them bedtime stories at night. I would like to hear goodnight moon. What would

01:10:46 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 5:

you do? I mean I can recite goodnight moon. I've done it 600 times at this point.

01:10:54 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 3:

You're an awesome guy. Alright, you ready?

01:10:57 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

01:10:57 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you ready? Here we go. Yeah, we're ready. All right, here we go. Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of Mojo Gives You a Baby, number two, couple number two is Kylie and JP from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Congratulations to you guys. You guys are winners.

01:11:20 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Thank you so much. You guys have no idea what it means to be.

01:11:26 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you guys, the couples just get cuter and cuter together. I'm looking at the picture that you guys posted, which you'll get a chance to see up on our social media, and I'm sure you already have. You guys just look great. First off, how did you guys meet?

01:11:42 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 4:

We met 12 years ago at the Log Cabin Bar in Grand Rapids. Oh, nice. Yeah. Sweet. I've been best friends with his sister since seventh grade, but we never met until 12 years ago.

01:11:55 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So you met 12 years ago. How long have you guys been together and married?

01:12:02 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 4:

We've been together the whole 12 years. As soon as we met, we were together. And then we've been married for six years. Our anniversary was the fourth of this month.

01:12:12 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and I'm looking at the letter that you sent us, and you've been trying for three years, trying to have a baby for three years, and you said you've basically done everything besides IVF because of the cost of it. It's so expensive.

01:12:26 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. We've done three IUIs. We've done medication. We've done the shots. It's been a pretty up and down roller coaster and a lot of emotions we didn't really anticipate when you start trying. So this is truly a blessing to both of us. It's the hope that we needed to regain for sure.

01:12:48 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 1:

I think when we talk about the journey, we always focus on the cost because of so many treatments and procedures you have done. But the emotional toll really is a big factor because you just feel defeated every time you try a new treatment and that doesn't work either.

01:13:02 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's definitely been hard and it's different for both of us. You know, the male and the female of the relationship definitely go through kind of different emotions of it just because there's different aspects for both of us. But it's been our communities really held us up and kept us going and kept us alive. And we definitely owe them for helping us win this today, for sure, as well.

01:13:26 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 3:

JP, are you there, buddy?

01:13:27 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 4:

Thank you very much for this opportunity.

01:13:29 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 3:

JP's the quiet, silent type there.

01:13:32 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 4:

He's just ready.

01:13:33 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Say hello to Dr. Shama, JP.

01:13:36 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:13:38 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Dr. Shama.

01:13:40 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hi to you guys, and congrats. to both of you, to Kylie and to JP, and you guys, like everybody else, are good, deserving people, and God willing, we're going to make it happen, and one thing I have to tell you is that for me, having done this for maybe 20, 30 years, 31 years now, it's always new to me, so for me, it gives me the pleasure of being part of this journey that you guys are having, because for every single couple, for me, it's a new journey, and it's a new beautiful outcome, God willing, at the very end. With that being said, I just want to underscore something to all our listeners, is that sometimes people undergo procedures and things that are ineffective, that are emotionally draining, and maybe financially draining, and they probably would benefit from doing something more likely to succeed from the get-go. Sometimes they don't do it. They don't do it because of fear of of of it failing and it costing so much with that being said you've got to do your research before you embark on amen and experimentation and stuff that doesn't end up anywhere except heart failure dr shama

01:15:00 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 2:

I say this all the time, and I know that the talk of expense, the expense is not that great when you go to IVF Michigan or the Ohio Fertility Center with the success rates that you guys have.

01:15:11 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 3:

Best in the state.

01:15:12 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 2:

And I think about you all the time when I've had friends of mine that are like Kylie and JP that have gone to multiple people or done multiple things. And I thought, oh, my gosh, if we could have only gotten the word out about you, Dr. Shama, and IVF Michigan.

01:15:26 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, before we let you go, Dr. Sham, I know we've known you for well over a decade, but I don't know your personal hobbies. JP is a tap dance teacher. So if you want to get some lessons, Dr. Sham, I'd like to see you maybe if you're light on your feet.

01:15:40 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm going to tell you something. I've never had a tap dance teacher before in 31 years. You're the first. Well, there we go. I will never forget you. I'm very clumsy in terms of dancing, but maybe I'll try.

01:15:59 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 2:

If you want to be a mom or a dad and you want to know more information about IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Centers, text baby to 95500 and then go to our social media today where KP will put up Kylie and JP's info. So, guys, congratulations again. Dr. Shama, we're going to see you again on Friday. So we're going to get the final couple on on Friday. And we're really happy to be part of this. And we're really happy to hopefully have a positive ending at the end of this journey, okay?

01:16:34 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much, guys. Literally, just amazing. Congrats again. Congrats again. Thank you. Bye.

01:16:40 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 2:

As Dr. Shama says, God bless you, because I really believe that God put Dr. Shama in our lives. Thank you so much, buddy. I appreciate you.

01:16:49 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 4:

You're welcome. Bye-bye to all.

01:16:50 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 2:

All right, take care.

01:16:52 - 01:16:52 | Unknown:

Bye-bye.

01:16:52 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 3:

Bye-bye. He should do ASMR.

01:16:53 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 2:

Bye-bye. He does. Isn't he got the greatest voice? He's legit the nicest human being ever.

01:16:59 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 3:

I know. Yeah.

01:17:00 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. It is time for you to go see John Mayer tonight. And it's Mojo's Hookup Hotline. Here's what we're going to do for you. If you want to go see John Mayer. We want you to call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We'll connect you with another fellow Mojo in the Morning listener. Think about this. You've got at least one thing in common, the Mojo in the Morning show. And then you guys will talk to each other. And at the end of talking to each other for a few moments, I'll give you guys 30 seconds or less to decide whether or not you want to explore more. And that would be by going together to see John Mayer.

01:18:02 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 3:

This guy's had more women than anybody.

01:18:10 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 2:

If you could sing like this, you could be on the hookup hotline.

01:18:14 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 3:

Here's the problem with him, though. He makes really weird faces when he sings, but he's still adorable, and I love his music.

01:18:21 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, Lydia, who is answering the phone calls this morning. Lydia, who are the first two that you would like me to pick up? Which two would you like me to go with first?

You're going to have to meet at the venue, aren't you? No problem. All right. This is not bad. Are both of you guys on any dating apps or are you guys out there exploring?

01:19:13 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

I gave that up. I was, but I'm so, so depressed. No, I'm off it now.

01:19:20 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 2:

What about you, Dan?

01:19:22 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

It's about the same. I gave up.

01:19:24 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, I'm going to shut the microphones off and I'm going to give you guys some moments to talk to each other and get to explore a little bit about each other. And then after you guys get to know each other and you'll have to keep the conversation going because the dead air alarm will go on and it will say dead air.

01:20:21 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay where do you cook at

01:20:23 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 4:

A restaurant I'm not going to say the date Sorry What do you do for your love?

01:20:30 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm a nurse.

01:20:32 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awesome. Yes. Go ahead.

01:20:38 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 3:

No, go ahead. What were you going to say?

01:20:41 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever been married?

01:20:42 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 3:

I have not. No?

01:20:44 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 4:

No? Any children?

01:20:46 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 3:

I have two.

01:20:48 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Are you against anyone with children? I got three.

01:20:53 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Am I what? What did you say?

01:20:56 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, are you against dating anyone with children?

01:21:00 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, that's not a problem for me at all. What about you?

01:21:04 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Oh, no, not at all. I love you. I love kids. My 10-year-old actually is the one that called in trying to get me a date.

01:21:12 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. That's so funny. How old are you?

01:21:15 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 4:

I'm 42. How about you? Okay.

01:21:18 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm 33.

01:21:19 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Does age matter?

01:21:24 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 3:

No, it doesn't. I mean, the last relationship I was in, no. I mean, he was older, too. Okay. Okay.

01:21:33 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 4:

And what do you think for fun?

01:21:35 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 3:

For fun? Pretty much anything and everything that I can outdoors. I'm pretty outdoorsy. I like to go hiking, fishing, that kind of thing, ride ATVs.

01:21:49 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 4:

I think I'm in love already. so you said you grew up on dating how come

01:21:56 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

uh obviously because dating apps are just pretty much a dumpster fire

01:22:01 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 4:

that's yeah from everything i see it sounds like guys are kind of dogs

01:22:06 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 3:

pretty much yeah yeah it is absolutely 100 and girls can be dogs too but yeah it's just a lot of um a lot of life on there when you meet the person and You know, it's just like you almost don't recognize them.

01:22:24 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 1:

Might I explore something real quick, and then I'll let you guys get back to your conversations. Dan is asking all the questions. Jessica is not asking any questions. Jessica, I'll let you ask some questions, and then we'll come back and chat. Okay, go ahead.

01:22:39 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So, have you ever been married?

01:22:43 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I was married. Divorced about five years ago.

01:22:46 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay. And what's your longest relationship that you've ever had?

01:22:52 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 4:

It was almost 20 years.

01:22:54 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's a long time, for sure.

01:22:56 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

01:22:57 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 3:

And how old are your kids?

01:23:00 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 4:

21, 17, and 10.

01:23:03 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 3:

Aw, that's awesome.

01:23:05 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm currently trying to raise my 10-year-old alone.

01:23:09 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

I know how that goes. I'm a single man myself.

01:23:12 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 4:

So, you know, dating is kind of hard.

01:23:15 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. It's not even just hard. it's pretty much impossible.

01:23:19 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 4:

Sure, sure.

01:23:20 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 3:

Agreed. Especially when it's just you and, you know, you've got to kind of work around your very extremely limited schedule between work and the kids. So I really get it.

01:23:32 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Boy, Mojo, I wish I had the free night to babysit for this couple because I don't know what they're going to say, but I feel like it's a good match already.

01:23:39 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 1:

I think it deserves a first date. I think we've got to let them make a decision on that. But I will say this. I will say, I think it is cute that Dan's 10-year-old is the reason why Dan called in. So that was kind of cute. Although Jessica seems a little reluctant. I'm starting to, I'm sensing she's scared. She's got the scared voice going on there. And maybe it's because Dan's got the raspy voice. And maybe that's the thing, Dan. But I will say this, and just an observation here, as we are just all eavesdropping on this conversation. And listeners are texting in saying that they think that these two sound cute together. If this is what dating is all about, Chelsea, don't ever divorce me. That's funny. Ali, I love you so much.

01:24:22 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 2:

But I think this is already better than what the dating apps would be. Really? This seems to be a better conversation I expected. Like 419 texting. 419 said this is the most uncomfortable I've ever been listening to your show while I love it at the same time. Because we're all eavesdropping.

01:24:39 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here's the deal, guys. This is the deal. We let you guys chat for a little bit. We give you an opportunity. The date would be to go to see John Mayer. I'm going to give you guys just a moment to think about this. Think about it and tell us what your thoughts are here after. All right. will jessica and dan date we will find out in moments it's mojo's hookup hotline on channel 955 and snx and don't forget about megan she's a 92.5 kiss fm beautiful what are we doing guys. What are we doing? What thoughts, guys? Date or no? You want him to go first? Wait a second. Again, she's... Dan, do you want a date? I'm in. Why would I turn down a good time? Oh my God. I knew you'd say yes, Dan. Hold on a second. What do we got here? Will Jessica say yes to the date? Find out. After we play some COVID commercials. Go ahead. Yes or no? Oh, I'm sorry. Okay, so yeah, I say yeah. Yeah! Love that. Oh, my God. Wow. Here's the best part, too, because the show is today. So do we get a little second date update tomorrow? Yes, absolutely. Of course, we all have to catch up. This is one. Congratulations to you guys. Yay, thank you so much. Oh, thank you. And Dan, is your 10-year-old right there? Yeah, he's sitting right here. We're waiting to get him into school. He's waiting. Wait, put him on the phone. I want to say hi to him. No. Say hi. It's Bojo. Say hi. Hey, buddy, what's your name? Levi. Are you happy with the fact that your dad's going to have a night out? Oh, wait a minute. Hold on. What did you say, Jessica? I said my brother's name is Levi. Oh, my God. This is a sign. Sure is. Hey, Levi, say hi to Miss Jessica. Hi. Hi, Levi. Aw, this is cute. I'm loving it. Hey, congratulations to you guys. Hang on the phone, okay? All right, hold on one second. All right, hold on. Okay, we got more tickets. Can we try one more? Can we do one more? Let's try one more. Here we go. If there's listeners that want the hookup hotline. Oh, we got it. Wait a second. Hold on. I'll tease this real quick. Chrissy is on the phone with us right now. Chrissy, tell us how old you are and what you look like. Describe yourself real quick. I am 27. I have a face tattoo, light brown hair. Yeah, kind of alternative.

01:27:39 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 1:

I like she gets that face tattoo right out of the way. Yeah, what's your face tattoo? It's a dagger. Oh, oh my gosh, wow. And just one more question before the guys call in. Have you ever done time? No, I have not No, okay, good What are you looking for? What kind of a hookup? Just something casual, I guess Guys, girls, or both? Guys Guys, alright, okay If you want to date Jazz I'm sorry, Chrissy Chrissy, if you want to date Chrissy This is another reason why I couldn't date I get women's names mixed up Hold on, Chrissy We're going to be back with Chrissy in moments Chrissy, you're by Body is a wonderland. Mojo in the morning show. We're doing the Mojo's Hookup Hotline for John Mayer tickets. So we got some John Mayer tickets courtesy of somebody. Was it Live Nation, I believe, or something? Maybe one of those guys, one of the big promoters. And we got some tickets to give away for tonight's show, and we wanted to do the chance to meet somebody because we're so tired of how bad the dating scene is. I mean, if I have to one more time tell guys, stop being creepy. Guys, have conversation. Women, ask questions. I mean, if that last conversation didn't kind of already tell you that, I mean, there are people that actually do sound good together, but the problem is that everybody, all they want are, you know, T-picks, you know or d-picks nobody wants a d-pick well or honestly guys stop asking for t-picks you know what i mean like please do us a favor yeah and ladies don't send them to a guy that asks you that's the problem and you know when when that happens wait wait make them let them earn the right to see yes the only way that you should you should be seeing them is if not that you're gonna buy them a meal is if you're actually somebody that's actually a good person and not sending them to your friends because if you send them right away guess what happens they send them to your friends i got those single douchebag friends that do it all the time i've seen more t pics than i've ever wanted to see in my life so here's the story here it's mojo's hookup hot line. Should we meet the next couple up for grabs here? I'd love this. It's kind of fun, isn't it? This is, you know, it's kind of, what did we are literally flies on a wall and honestly listening to this happen rather. I've done this at restaurants before Chelsea and I've been out to dinner before my wife, Chelsea, and we've been out to dinner before we see couples that obvious on a first date and the whole time we're eavesdropping the entire time to hear what they're talking about. We met Chrissy before we went to song, and Chrissy, welcome back. Chrissy, the face tattoo beauty. How are you, Chrissy?

01:30:41 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 1:

Chrissy?

01:30:41 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 3:

How are you?

01:30:42 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Chrissy, we got somebody for you here. On the phone with us is Steve. Hi, Steve.

01:30:50 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, guys?

01:30:51 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 1:

How you doing? You know, I'm living life. How are you guys? Good. Don't ask us. Ask Chrissy. Ask Chrissy how she's doing. Say hello.

01:31:00 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 4:

Chrissy, how's it going? I like your voice.

01:31:03 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Steve. I'm good. How are you?

01:31:05 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. It's pretty early. You know, I normally don't wake up this early, but I heard that they're giving away tickets, so I definitely had to call.

01:31:14 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 1:

Yes. How old are you, Chrissy?

01:31:17 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 4:

I'm 27.

01:31:18 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 1:

And how old are you there, Stevie?

01:31:21 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm 28.

01:31:22 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So, Steve, 27, 28. This is good. We got a good match. You want to get right to it and get these guys having a little conversation with each other? Or anybody want to throw in something or two?

01:31:37 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

Did you hear Chrissy talking before you called in?

01:31:41 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 4:

A little bit. I heard something about a dagger tattoo.

01:31:44 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Oh, nice. All right, let's get right to it. All right, guys, we're going to be turning our microphones off and allowing you guys to talk. It's Mojo's Hookup Hotline. Say hello to Chrissy and Steve. Hey, Chrissy. How's it going?

01:32:00 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. So what do you do, Steve?

01:32:04 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 4:

I am a porter at a car dealership. What about you?

01:32:09 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay, nice. I'm an accountant. Super boring.

01:32:13 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, very nice. So I got to ask, is your tattoo on your left side or your right side?

01:32:20 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 3:

It's on my left side.

01:32:22 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 4:

So are you right-handed?

01:32:25 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 3:

I am.

01:32:27 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's bad luck. Well, that's cool, though. How long have you been an accountant for?

01:32:34 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, what?

01:32:36 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

How long have you been an accountant for?

01:32:40 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 3:

Since, like, December-ish, so, like, three, four months.

01:32:44 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so fairly recent. What did you do before that?

01:32:47 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 3:

I was contract administration, so kind of just, like, dealing with customers.

01:32:54 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, very cool, very cool. Now, I've got to ask, if we were to go on this, you know, concert together, it's kind of embarrassing, but would you want to maybe get dinner with me? But, like, I wouldn't pay, though.

01:33:17 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

oh um i mean i would yeah oh yeah for sure all about women's equality you know definitely i you

01:34:13 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, I'm so sorry to hear that. Are you open to marriage, like, now after getting divorced?

01:34:21 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:34:23 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that's a positive. That's good. Now, when I look for women, I usually hope that they have, like, well, first, are you on any dating apps?

01:35:38 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 5:

Chrissy you have any last minute questions because again the guys are asking all the questions just like we had a moment ago

01:35:45 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 2:

01:36:01 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 5:

01:36:31 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm down. What a surprise.

01:36:37 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 5:

What about you, Chrissy? He sounds like a really nice guy. I don't know. I kind of like him. I think maybe you might not have gotten his best side. Yeah, there's always nerves.

01:36:51 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

You know, I really do like John Mayer, but I think I'm going to have to pass. Oh, no. No, Bill.

01:36:58 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 4:

What's the reluctance? What is it in the conversation, the short one we had, that maybe put up a red flag for you?

01:37:05 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 3:

What was it? I think, you know, I don't know if it was the kissing or the bandit. Because English isn't very well for me. I can't enjoy a good concert Oh my god

01:37:23 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, Mojo. We love you guys. We love you guys, too. We love you.

01:37:56 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 6:

Yes, we do. We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. Yay! This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:06 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:38:08 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 5:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30 with Shannon.

01:38:12 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 8:

Quinnith Faltrow appearing in a Park City, Utah courtroom yesterday for the start of a trial over a 2016 ski and run, ski hit and run in Utah. She's accused of crashing into a man named Terry Sanderson on the beginner slopes at Deer Valley Resort, causing several serious injuries and then skiing off without giving her name or contact info or calling for help. So this guy, this Terry Sanderson, filed a lawsuit in 2019, three years after this accident. Since then, he has alleged that the collision left him with a brain injury, four broken ribs, and a whole bunch of emotional damage. This is his lawyer.

01:38:50 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 6:

She turns her head up to look at her children. As she turns her head back down, she screams, then skis back into the back of Terry Sanderson. She knew that skiing that way, looking somewhere else, blindly skiing down a mountain by looking up and to the side was reckless one of terry

01:39:14 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 7:

sanderson's friends saw the whole thing happen i looked over and then about you know maybe one or two seconds um and then i heard the scream and then and then and then i see this this this year

01:39:27 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 8:

just slam into the back terry yeah people say that they saw gwyneth paltrow laying on top of this guy. The trial is being live streamed on YouTube, by the way. Here's a member of Gwyneth's

01:39:38 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 1:

legal team speaking. We believe it to be utter BS. Gwyneth was hurt by Mr. Sanderson's negligence. It rattled her and it physically hurt her. That trial continues today. Somebody else in legal

01:39:52 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 8:

trouble, Bad Bunny, his ex-girlfriend, Carlyse de la Cruz Hernandez, is the voice that you hear at the start of two.

01:40:00 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 4:

of his songs. This is her right here. Well, must not have been a very nice breakup because she now wants $40 million to cover the royalty. She said she's entitled to for saying his name as well as compensation for the harassment she said she's received since they split. $40 million.

01:40:21 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 3:

Apparently, I kind of deep dive this because I was like $40 million is crazy, right? They offered her $2,000 to buy her out of it and she said, hell no. And then they put on another song without her permission. Oh. And so she's going to sue for copyright on the profits from that song that she's not even credited on. Like, it just seems like a dumb move.

01:40:40 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 1:

I guess it's all going to play out in court to see if she signed any other agreements. A lot of times going into these things, people will sign, you know, where they might be able to use it on whatever they want. Right.

01:40:49 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 3:

She's not going to get 40. No. 40 million. What do you think they're going to pay her off with? Like two? Two million to go away? No. Oh, I think so. I think we're going to get like a two million.

01:40:58 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 6:

He's one of the top most paid artists right now. He probably will just pay her off.

01:41:04 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 4:

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has joined the Las Vegas Raiders on a three-year deal. We know that. Well, he has just received another offer. An offer from two Nevada brothel workers for free sex for life. Hell yeah. These two women work for the famous Chicken Ranch brothel. Kaitlin Bell and Alice Little say they are extremely excited for the heartthrob to move to Vegas, and they are offering up their services pro bono for the rest of his life. That's amazing.

01:41:33 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 6:

By the way, could be the best-looking athlete that has ever walked the face of the earth, right?

01:43:40 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 4:

in. Did you see what happened to him when he walked in too? He went to sit down in the chair and went all the way down to the ground. Oh, the poor guy.

01:43:46 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 6:

Well, there's a lot of violations in this building, and Chief is with us next. Don't go anywhere. Mojo in the Morning. Find us on Instagram.

01:43:57 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Somebody call 911. Show the fire burning on the death floor. What's up, Kwame?

01:44:12 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 5:

This is a song that is his walk-up music whenever he comes in the studio to hang out with us.

01:44:19 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 6:

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for Detroit Fire Chief, James Harris in the Mojo in the Morning Show studio. Hey. By the way, I sound more like a strip club DJ there announcing up now on the stage, Cotton. It's Cotton, everybody. yeah um chief so nice to have you here by the way let me just say this to you this this man has one of the best apartments in uh the country let alone uh you know in obviously this region but he is

01:45:00 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 5:

one of the nicest human beings ever and you got a couple of things that you wanted to come in and you sent me a text and I said, you know what, Chief, you come in anytime you want to. You got an open door here because you want to know why? Why? Because when we move downtown Detroit, I know I'm going to commit a lot of fire violations and I'm going to hope you're going to look the other way.

01:45:16 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 2:

Ah. I don't know if you saw it on the way in. We always light off sparkler fireworks every time Mojo enters the building. That's right.

01:45:26 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 5:

It's like when a home run gets hit at Comerica Park by Miguel Cabrera I didn't see anything.

01:45:32 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

I was looking north and south.

01:45:35 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 5:

Actually, there are some really important things, and this is not just for Detroit, but this is for everybody. So you're listening to us in Macomb, Roseville, Toledo, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Rockford, or maybe in sunny Florida. This chief knows his stuff, and this is a time of year where people kind of take their eye off the ball, so to speak. And this is where a lot of house fires happen, right?

01:46:01 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 4:

Correct.

01:46:01 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 5:

Apartment fires, too.

01:46:02 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 4:

Correct. A lot of people, like you said, they slip. They think, okay, well, the weather's warming up. I don't have to pay attention to my fireplace, my furnace. Yes, you do. You always have to be mindful. Make sure you turn that stove off, that oven off if you're cooking. Don't leave the house if you're cooking or you're baking. Hey, it's grilling season. It's approaching. I saw some people grilling the other day, and it was like 30 out. So just please be mindful. Don't grill under an awning, overhang, or near the house or the garage. Be very careful.

01:46:29 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you something? I have seen this happen numerous times, and it's happened to a few friends of mine. Their first grill of the season, and they light their grill, their gas grill, and it poofs and blows up right in their face because the gas gets stuck somehow, or I don't know how that is.

01:46:49 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 4:

No. Make sure you get an inspected, especially with those gas grills. Make sure you get an inspected. Make sure you get a fresh tank. It's worth the money. It's worth a couple extra bucks.

01:46:58 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 5:

just to be safe yeah yeah you know i don't know i'm telling you i i i always i fear two things i fear fire and water for some reason that's like my biggest fear in my house you're not wrong because those are the things that are devastating to try to pick up the pieces after and i don't

01:47:14 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

want to lose anything they are they are like you said once something gets flooded your basement gets flooded out it's over everything are your valuables your heirlooms your belongings they're

01:47:23 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 5:

gone yeah it's a wrap and the same with fire what about uh uh traffic it seems like we're seeing some of the worst weather with the roads being nuts you know you saw that story that happened out in west michigan right with the yes the white out snow we were stuck in that we were actually on our way to irish and ionia at the time and then the icy streets and stuff um you guys go on a ton

01:47:47 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 4:

of those calls we do uh first of all we want everybody to remember this always pull over to the right always be cautious and be mindful of us a lot of people i know we got these fancy sound systems in our cars we got our music turned all the way up you're listening to 95.5 mojo in the morning yeah you got it on blast but please if you see those flashing red lights those blue lights and you hear us just pull over to the right a lot of people panic and stop or they pull over to the

01:48:13 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 3:

left always move over to the right i've been lecturing my daughters about that like i know you like your music loud but you got to make sure you can hear a siren coming because you're going to be at an intersection and not know there's an emergency vehicle coming can i tell you this

01:48:25 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 5:

chief yes i don't know if this is bad to do but i always pull over to the right and then as soon as you guys pass i chase after you because i figure i've got myself no i can't do that he wants a police escort i want to i figured that i'll pretend like i'm like a volunteer or something like that i don't know you guys i know you guys don't have volunteer firemen oh speaking of firemen you're actually looking for firemen right oh we are we are we're looking for firefighters

01:48:48 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 4:

right now uh apply it's on the city website detroitmi.gov we also have a qr code you can click on we're looking for i'm using a jim harborough approach we're recruiting from everywhere macomb wayne oakland genesee you name it we want firefighters what's that process like to become a firefighter well you got to be smart yeah you got to be the person that wants to help people that cares about people you got to be 18 you got to have a high school diploma or the equivalent maybe a GED uh you got to pass a drug test you got to can't have any felonies you have to have a valid driver's license and then you teach them everything else we'll train you on

01:49:22 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 5:

him or her okay yeah yeah all right actually you know there's a there's a great number of female firefighters in your department and it's gone up since you've actually been the chief or correct

01:49:33 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 4:

we're trying to increase that uh that's why we say firefighters and back in the day back in the 70s it was fireman yeah now it's firefighters and some of the roughest toughest bravest firefighters we have are our ladies i love that yes can i ask you a really important question

01:49:47 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 1:

absolutely how come all firefighters are hot they're all good looking not proportionate to

01:49:53 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

the general public you're right i don't know about that one i'd have to do some research on that he's like why did i

01:50:00 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

come in here.

01:50:01 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 1:

Why?

01:50:02 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 4:

Is it the uniform?

01:50:03 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 2:

Is it because they can make chili? What is it?

01:50:05 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 4:

We do make some darn good chili. We've got some heck of a recipes.

01:50:11 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 3:

We're going to be moving to Eastern Market sometime in the next decade. It's going to happen. And when it does, when it does, we better be getting regular invites to go over to, what station number is that?

01:50:25 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that's our hazmat. That's our hazmat.

01:50:27 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I was in the hazmat truck that you guys had.

01:50:29 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 4:

They've got all the cool trucks. Yes, and we've got the cool trucks and everything over there, and we've got some great, phenomenal chefs over there. So you all make sure you pop in and get a meal with us.

01:50:37 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 3:

They have a truck, for the listeners to describe, they have a truck that goes into parking garages that's like a special truck that will fit into the parking garages and be able to, you know, if there's an issue that's happening, you know, we've got a lot of parking garages in downtown Detroit. That's correct.

01:50:55 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 4:

It's called the TAC, and it's short. like you said our actual fire trucks and our rescue squads and our ladder trucks and our fire engines they can't fit in the parking structures but this one can and lord forbid there's ever a fire or anything in there we can get in there and go to work and take care of business yeah

01:51:09 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 3:

uh any other uh quick plugs or anything like that you'd like to do got uh got any any charity stuff coming up or anything that you want to say uh pretty soon uh in the month of june we're going

01:51:19 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

to be doing a fire safety fair again we do it every uh october which is fire safety fire prevention month but we're going to do it again in june this month teach you how to use a fire extinguisher how to have a fire escape plan out of your home we're going to have our medics there to check your blood pressure teach everyone in the city how to do hands-only cpr that's huge

01:51:39 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 1:

huge huge i need a refresher on that look i need a refresher on that big time that buffalo bills

01:51:45 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

player yes yeah i mean that if it wasn't for that that trainer that they had who saved his life he

01:51:53 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 4:

was able to do that that's correct that's that's how uh it's paramount everybody learns so for the

01:51:58 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 2:

next week or two as we approach the end of march madness what's the best way to put out a couch fire do we want to sweep the fire hydrant left or right we want to put the extinguisher right on the fire for spartans or do we want to hit the perimeter you said it right the first time it's

01:52:12 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 4:

a sweeping motion it's actually passed it's an acronym pull the pull the pin aim squeeze sweep Perfect. You hit it on the nail.

01:52:20 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 3:

I love this guy so much. I know. Honestly, I truly think that our city is a better city because of you and your great firefighters that you have working for you.

01:52:30 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. We have the best team on the globe, not just the United States, on the globe. They sacrifice every day, day in, day out, and do what's right and do what's best for the citizens of the city of Detroit. We are thankful for you. Give it up for Chief Harris.

01:52:44 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 3:

Harris. There we go. Yeah. How good a liar are you? Five Lies to Tell Your Mom is coming up next on Mojo in the Morning. Boy, now here's a situation before we do anything. Shannon, you have a friend of yours that is going through a situation and anybody that has an ex may be able to relate to this.

01:53:05 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, especially if you used to live together. So one of my very, very close girlfriends is recently divorced and she still lives in the same house that she lived in with her ex-husband when they were married. They do have kids together, and he lives maybe five minutes from now her house, their ex-marital home.

01:53:26 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so it was the old house that they used to live in?

01:53:28 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 1:

She lives in that house still. Yep. So over this past weekend, she did not have their kids. He had them. So this is either Saturday morning or Sunday morning. I can't remember, but it doesn't matter. She was sleeping in her bed, decided to sleep in. I don't have the kids. Finally, I can sleep in. Into the bedroom walks her ex and he was looking for something that one of the girls had left there. And he's like, I tried texting. I tried calling. She didn't hear him even walk in the house because she was sleeping. And she was so upset about this. And she said, you know, you you can't do that anymore. You can't just like, yes, this is the house that we used to own together but it's it's my house now my my private space and she's like you can't just walk into the house unannounced let alone my bedroom it was I mean it was just one of those situations where she's like I didn't think that we had to talk about that because common sense would tell you that would probably be pretty awkward all right I have a question

01:54:33 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to, and I just wanted to throw this out there when you switch residences, okay. Or you have like a situation where like a roommate moves out or whatever, do you switch the, if you're getting divorced or you're breaking up, do you switch the locks on your, on your house or apartment or wherever that you were living in? Like, did you, okay. So you stayed in your house, right? Yep. So did you change the locks on your place?

01:54:59 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

I did not.

01:55:00 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 6:

And Andrew still has my garage coat. Like he has everything. But I will say he gives me a heads up before he's coming over. Now, mind you, at first he did not. And it came to a point, nothing strange happened, but it came to a point where we both said, you know, boundaries. We need to announce when we're on our way to the other parent's house.

01:55:21 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if people are in, you know, if you've been divorced or, you know, broken up, do you change that lock? Or do you trust that they're okay coming back and forth?

01:55:33 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 6:

Like if Andrew texted me this morning and said, hey, you know, Smith left something for school at your house. Can I run in and grab it? Absolutely, 100%. I would feel totally comfortable. And you do the same with him? Yes. With him being in the house.

01:55:48 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 4:

What about, Spike, do you have the key to your old house?

01:55:50 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 1:

I do. So I think it all depends on the relationship, right? And how rocky it is or how you get along. but for us it uh we get along and also uh we still have kids so i want to be able to you know in in any case be able to access if there's an emergency or anything but um i would call ahead like well i would never think to enter the house without her permission yeah but but also even when she knows i'm coming like i'm okay i'm gonna grab dublin from you or the dog and then i still like i still text leaving the house and i'm 10 minutes away and give her a heads up just out of courtesy

01:56:26 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 5:

What about when that person That your ex moves on And has another significant other And that's my situation

01:56:33 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 6:

And that's why for a while Andrew we would just Walk into each other's houses And there had to come a point where we were like There has to be some Announcement made that you're coming over Or it could get real awkward for you

01:56:48 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 1:

I think we might be in a rare situation I think most couples after divorce Don't have that friendly relationship That you you know you wouldn't think that maybe the locks get changed or maybe you have to tell them like in your friend's situation you cannot just walk into my house well that's what she said yeah if

01:57:04 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 5:

i was like dating a guy and his ex just like came in that i don't know that would be like a huge red

01:57:11 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 4:

flag to me yeah you got to respect the space kelly what's up it's mojo in the morning hey how are you Good. Tell us your situation.

01:57:21 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 2:

So I had an ex that took me a couple tries to get him out of the house. And one time I was out with my kids and I came back and he was actually attempting to back out of my driveway. He had been in my house. While you weren't home? Uh-huh.

01:57:39 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 1:

My dude, you do not live here anymore. You can press charges.

01:57:42 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 2:

uh he would throw a key at me yet still be able to get into my house wow how was he able to do

01:57:49 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 4:

that he made copies because he made a copy he did listen to these uh texters here 586 i changed my locks immediately 248 hell yes you changed that lock um a couple of uh of our mojo in the morning texters coming uh through could you imagine how awkward that must have been for your friend to have him, like, walk into the room.

01:58:13 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, and she goes, thank God I was wearing pajamas this time. Because she's like, sometimes I don't. When your kids aren't around, I mean, she's right. Half the time I'll sleep, you know, without pajamas on because nobody's around.

01:58:25 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 4:

Plus, honestly.

01:58:26 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 6:

It's not that pretty, Megan.

01:58:28 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 4:

Plus, honestly, don't you always want to look cute when the ex is there just to show him what he's missing?

01:58:33 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:58:33 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you want to actually, like, make sure that you got your, you know, your hair looking good and, you know, everything is all said and done you want to have them get a little jealousy look what you are missing out on right now although can you imagine walking in and uh your significant other your

01:58:49 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 3:

ex-significant others like on top or bottom oh my god what's up rebecca hi um so before i just recently got divorced and before i was legally divorced um i kept the home and my ex moved out so before we were legally divorced his name was still on everything and i couldn't change the locks i caught on to him going through my house what was he doing was he taking things nope he was just like digging through i don't he never even told me what he was looking for because like i did end up confronting him but i ended up putting up security cameras oh yeah that's good to get right yeah to get proof of all this because that's pretty much all i could do yeah and i did intend on changing the locks as soon as he moved out but thankfully we've moved past that and i do trust him thank goodness but you have the cameras the security cameras are there and he knows that they're there now because he found them eventually yeah um but i do think it's all about trust because and i guess if i didn't have those cameras i might change the

01:59:53 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 4:

lock well i love it it's all about trust but i got cameras um jen actually brings up a very interesting point what is that jen um okay so legally if you give somebody the key they have your permission to enter whenever they want um i went through this with my ex and called the police and the police were like if they have a key like you need to change your locks and that's the only way that you know it becomes permission is no longer granted because they no longer have a key that's interesting and and i

02:00:27 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 2:

guess my response to that would be okay so that's that's the legalese in it well enter at your own risk because god only knows what you might see i agree i got a very big dog yeah not even that i'm talking about naked people doing naked people things you know but wait wait don't you want

02:00:46 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

them to see that like i think fine but i'm just to me it's like i i if chelsea and i god forbid Ever got divorced I'm hoping that there's some Hot girl in my room and I'm naked with her

02:00:58 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 2:

You're not going to want to walk into Chelsea's house When something else is happening

02:01:01 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Ah well You got me Alright Mojo in the morning Coming up here next on the show I want to tell you something You are going to hear Five Lies Tell Your Mom But if you don't want to wait You can listen to it on the podcast right now It's available And if you missed last hour's hookup hotline, our Mojo in the Morning show, hooking you up with John Mayer tickets, it's right now podcast. 02:07:41 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 5:

02:07:46 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you.

02:07:49 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 5:

I feel like we need to, like, get one of those places, like, what is it, Uncle Bill's or Wild Bill's or something like that, to sponsor this version of Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:08:00 - 02:08:01 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:08:01 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 5:

Can we end with a song? Come on. Take me home. Country. To a place.

02:08:11 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I belong.

02:08:13 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 5:

West Virginia.

02:08:16 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 5:

02:08:20 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 5:

It's Grandma Claudia.

02:08:22 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Take me home. Thank you to the texters, by the way,

02:08:26 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 5:

that told me I don't know John Denver songs because it's the wrong song. That's all right. This is a better one, yeah. Rocky Mountain High, Take Me Home is a little different. Whatever. Everybody knows this song, right? Come on.

02:08:42 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning.

02:08:44 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the morning.

02:08:50 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Yesterday I had kind of a cool day that I wanted to share with you all. It's interesting. Justin Bieber was right, and I'm going to go on record to say it. It's not too late now to say sorry. I had kind of an interesting situation. So I'll give you like a little bit of a recap on this. And then I want to do this in a way to get our listeners to maybe feel good about a situation or quite possibly maybe encourage you to do something. Over two years ago, I stopped talking to a former coworker of ours, and it stemmed from a comment that was made that got back to me about what they said behind my back. and when i heard it it made me think of norm our old uh agent remember norm used to always say no one calls my children ugly oh all the time only i can do that and he would say that all and he did he would call us ugly absolutely but i i

02:10:00 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 1:

I got that from Norm because of, honestly, it made me realize that with my children, nobody calls my children ugly. And I don't want to hear anybody do that. I will be very protective of them. And this particular former coworker actually did call one of my children. He called Joe ugly. He actually, when Joe got into radio, he made a comment that got back to me about how Joe only was in radio because of his dad and he, you know, wasn't that talented and actually said that we were playing daddy ball because of, you know, Joe worked at the radio station and then eventually, you know, had gone and do a morning show. For those who don't know what Daddy Ball is, it's the old reference to when the dads are the coaches of the team and their kids are the shortstops or the point guards or the quarterbacks of the teams.

02:10:56 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 2:

He accused you of nepotism when, in fact, the reality was it really was the opposite. You weren't helping your son get a job. You were discouraging your son from working in radio at the beginning of all that.

02:11:06 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 1:

And actually, it's interesting because the person that had me get together with this former coworker was Tony, who is like the biggest advocate of Joe's. Like he's been he's been such a huge Tony's our boss, Tony Travato. We talk about him on the show, but he actually is the biggest, you know, fan of Joe's and has been so instrumental in his career. And you're right, Spike. I try to back off. I try to give Joe advice, but I try not to give people up. You know, I actually probably to a fault of mine, and I did this when I coached the kids when they were younger. I never really played my kids a lot, and I probably should have played them a little bit more. But I don't really try to step in the way and try to get them opportunities. They kind of try to do it themselves. So long story short, Tony said, hey, this person really wants to get together with you and do lunch. And I didn't want to do it for the longest time. Like, I was kind of putting it off, putting it off. And then Tony said, do it. Will you do it for me, you know, as a favor to me? Because I really would like you guys to talk again. And so I said, okay. So I got together with him. We went to lunch and we had a very nice talk. And it was interesting because in the beginning of lunch, we're talking about things, catching up on stuff because he no longer works here. and then the awkward moment happened when he said hey i want to say something to you and i knew oh here it's coming and he said um i just wanted to apologize and i don't want to give out too much information because of out of respect to him but i know he knows that i talk about everything on the radio and actually i think that's one of the reasons why he and i have always gotten along so much because he would do the same if he were on the air um and he just said he goes i'm really really sorry you know he says you know I didn't mean any harm by that he goes it's probably a little bit of jealousy and then he he talked about you know Joe and said that he wants to talk to Joe and have a conversation with him because he assumes that Joe knows and then he was very very much talking about how he's grown over time which honestly we all kind of have right we all grow in ways that hopefully are for the better and I will say this it's harder to say you're sorry for something and truly mean it than it ever is to ask somebody out on a date and I know I used to always say it was the hardest thing in the world was to ask somebody out on a date when I was younger no it's hard to put your pride aside and one thing I saw and I actually could see it right in his heart is that he's a changed person. And honestly, we had a very nice conversation and I thought it was cool. And as we were leaving and we were talking about things, we talked about how we're going to get together and share conversation more with each other and ideas and things like that. I said to him, I said, you know what? This was really a good time. I really enjoyed this. And I really enjoyed doing this because it's a sign of healing when

02:14:06 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 1:

you have that. And I got in my car and as soon as I got into my car, I thought, I want to bring this up on the air because we are living in the most divisive times that we have probably ever lived in our lives and hopefully will ever live in our lives. And I hope that, you know, we can all get out of this. And I know that there are so many people that have somebody that maybe is not talking to them or they're not talking to a person and nothing breaks my heart more than when I hear that good friendships have ended or, and, or family relationships have ended. And so I wanted to throw out there to you that if you are in one of those, I'm not talking to that person or this person's not talking to me, don't be too proud. Reach out. Cause the one thing that this guy did was he reached out. numerous times like he he swallowed his pride but he also probably had you know there's probably not a the easiest thing to pick up the phone or send a text message or whatever to actually reach out and say hey i want to try to get together and i was the one that was too proud to get together because i was like you know what i'm pissed and this is my son and i'm not you know this whole

02:15:19 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 3:

thing and yesterday was very very uh when both people let down their barriers right yeah then

02:15:25 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 1:

that can happen it was nice it was really really nice so if you uh if you are listening i mean i'd love to talk to you and try to talk you into calling somebody and saying you're sorry to them um and maybe if you're not getting a conversation going with somebody if somebody's not calling you or they don't want to be with you i would suggest you be the first to to you know make the first move um life is too freaking short yeah chels has a best friend of hers it's like a sister to her and out of the blue um her very healthy husband has has a brain tumor right now and the guy's 40 something years old young 40s and i look at that situation and i'm like holy christ i mean it can happen overnight to somebody car accidents you know are so prominent people getting car You know, it's like, why do we have to live with all that angst and anger in our lives? I mean, there are still people I'm not talking to. Like, I'm not going to talk to the people that don't fix this stupid studio from time to time. But family is one thing.

02:16:37 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if I see it the same way.

02:16:39 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah?

02:16:39 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:16:40 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Why?

02:16:40 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 5:

Because life is too short to let people hurt you.

02:16:43 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Set boundaries and move on. But to your point, Megan, I do think that there are, because I think I know the situation you're talking about personally, but I think that there are situations that you need to walk away from and shut that door for good. There's middle grounds. Yeah, if somebody was, you know, abusive, and I don't mean that just physically, but like horribly emotionally or mentally abusive, understood, the door stays shut and locked and will never open.

02:17:05 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 1:

I would never want you to have to do that, to do that. But if it's something as simple as a comment that was made, you know?

02:17:13 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I love a good apology I love making a good apology But I also understand that doesn't just fix everything And I think it's nice to do that But also It's okay to just move on And say I appreciate you reaching out I'm good

02:17:29 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 2:

I think what Megan's referring to is what we call Irish amnesia Which is you never forget always hold the grudge But in some situations Like I'm fine with Oh I forgive you I'm cool Like it's not bothering me anymore But I also don't want you back in my life If somebody did something truly and intentionally hurtful, it all really depends on a case-by-case basis.

02:17:49 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 1:

But I will tell you, I think that yesterday when I drove away, there was a sense of happiness that came over me.

02:17:57 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's freeing. It is freeing.

02:18:00 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 1:

And I know for him, I could see it on his face because he's not gone through an easy time. But I could see it on his face how he felt. And honestly, that made me feel good. Like, that made me feel good to see that. So, I don't know. Megan, I agree but disagree with you. But I do all the time anyway. And we still talk.

02:18:22 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 5:

But I think trust is a big thing to do with it. And you can apologize, but that doesn't mean I trust you.

02:18:27 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 1:

You know who I trusted, though? I trusted Tony. When Tony said to do, like, because I know Tony's character. And when Tony said, you know what? Here's the deal. You can decide what you want to do, but I really do feel like this guy's changed. And I was like, okay, Tony, I agree with you. And if it doesn't work out, then I can call you an a-hole.

02:18:45 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but we also know I'm the cold-hearted one, so don't listen to me.

02:18:48 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 1:

No, you're not.

02:18:49 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:18:50 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 2:

You're bringing up a legit point. It's not a blanket statement, I think, for every situation.

02:18:55 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 1:

Sharon. Hi, Mojo. Hey, what's happened? We're doing good.

02:19:01 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 4:

Good, good. First-time caller, long-time listener. Welcome. Yeah, life is really too short. you have to be the first one to make the move i went 15 years without talking to my father and it broke my heart so because we're both stubborn and he has three grandkids he's never seen so i made the first move i called him and uh we got back together talking find out he was really sick and we only got three years to spend together wow what was the if you don't mind me

02:19:34 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 1:

asking or prying if you don't want to you don't have to say it but what was the reason why 15

02:19:38 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 4:

years surpassed and you guys didn't talk yeah we had a falling out after my mom passed um

02:19:45 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 1:

just about family members it was just bad yeah so yeah so so it wasn't anything as big as there was you know uh abuse or anything like that it was just a Thank you.

02:20:00 - 02:20:02 | Speaker 3:

Just a family member situation. So it was something that was forgivable.

02:20:03 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, yeah. But, yeah, don't, life is too short.

02:20:08 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 3:

Do you regret the fact that you waited that long? I mean, knowing that he passed? Or do you feel like, you know what, at least we got back together?

02:20:20 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 5:

Every day I regret it. Every day.

02:20:22 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I wouldn't hold on to that because that's not healthy for you to do. and understand that you made his life peaceful at the end of his life.

02:20:30 - 02:20:31 | Unknown:

Yep, yep.

02:20:31 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 3:

And he got to see his grandkids, and the kids now know Grandpa for at least eight years, right?

02:20:37 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, for sure, yeah. Yeah, it was good, yeah.

02:20:41 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for calling.

02:20:43 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Have a good day, guys.

02:20:44 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 3:

All right, call more often. We like you. What's up, Kim?

02:20:48 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 6:

Hi, yeah, no, I'm with Megan on this one. Life is too short to keep people you don't like or want around in your life, So they can definitely just stay where they're at. They did something that deserves you not talking to them. Keep not talking to them.

02:21:04 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I like you as much as I like that last call.

02:21:08 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 4:

I need a therapist's take on this, to be honest. Because I don't know if I'm in the healthiest place, but I truly believe, like, if you've, if we've had a relationship that is so severed. And I'm not saying a petty argument a couple of days later, it cools down. Oh, no. I'm talking about like big You haven't talked to each other for a year Plus something happened Something big I just don't know if I have it in me To rebuild that relationship Same

02:21:37 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 3:

You know what This was a dumb topic to bring up I love it It's just lots of different opinions

02:21:45 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 1:

Based on people's personal experiences

02:21:47 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 3:

For your situation this was a blessing And that's why it's good to share it

02:21:51 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 1:

100%

02:21:51 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 3:

By the way, people are asking who paid for lunch. I paid for lunch. I did. And I'm going to give the bill to Tony Travato.

02:22:01 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

Shannon's dirty. Is Shannon pretty dirty? A dirty 30? Yeah.

02:22:06 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour is dirty.

02:22:10 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 2:

So an update on Amanda Bynes. She remains hospitalized for some mental health issues that she's been experiencing. And we're starting to get more details about what exactly was going on in her life before this hospitalization occurred. She was experiencing a psychotic episode. She weighs like less than 100 pounds. There is some suspected prescription drug use, drug abuse, excuse me, here. But sources close to Amanda tell me they're still kind of putting the pieces together. But at this point, they believe she'd been living on the streets for several days. Her car was towed the day before St. Patrick's Day in Long Beach, which is about 40 miles from where she lives, about 25 miles from downtown L.A., where she popped up naked and wandering on Sunday. From Long Beach, people say they think she hitchhiked or took public transport to get around. She was spotted in Hollywood the day after St. Patrick's Day, appearing kind of out of it, but overall okay. We're also told that since she was first brought to the hospital early Sunday morning, she has started to make improvements. But the expectation is that she'll probably stay there at least another week before they discharge her. Kelly Ripa is calling out her husband, Mark Consuelos, for making their marriage real difficult at the beginning. In a preview for her new SiriusXM podcast, Let's Talk Off Camera, she called Mark very jealous. And she said she didn't notice this when they were dating. She didn't notice it when they were engaged. It wasn't until a week after their wedding did this side of him come out. This is actually a great topic. Things you find out after the wedding, right? She tells the story about going to this Italian restaurant, and she said the waiter was this cute old man. He was like 70 or 80 years old. He leaned down close to her as he was taking her order and essentially called her a princess in Italian, okay? Well, that set off her new husband. Mark Consuelos picks this horrible fight with her after she gave this cute waiter her order in what Mark said was a very smiley and flirtatious manner. And so they're having this conversation on the podcast. Mark does remember picking the fight. And he said, you know, we were just 25 years old. He is not as jealous anymore. But it was a rough start for them. Interesting.

02:24:33 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

All I got from that is, oh, good, another celebrity podcast.

02:24:36 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, right. 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey has been ordered to attend some anger management classes and AA meetings a year after he was aggressive with a female photographer. If you remember this, I think we talked about it when it happened. It was about a year ago in Beverly Hills. He and his wife were coming out of a really fancy steak restaurant, and they see this woman taking photos of them in her car across the street.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 5:

the street. So Nick walks up to this woman's car and reaches into her window and grabs her cell

02:25:05 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 8:

phone. Why are you so mad for her? I'm a girl. I'm just a photographer. Yeah. Why are you so rude and hitting the window? Why are you hitting the window? Why are you doing so fine? I'm a photographer. I'm looking for celebrities. I thought you were a celebrity. I think you're drunk. I can smell you.

02:25:25 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 5:

According to police documents, Nick was charged with assault and penalty that night.

02:25:30 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 2:

It's funny to listen to this soft, beautiful song. He's grabbing somebody's phone.

02:25:37 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 9:

Also, what happened is not funny, but golly, I'm a girl is what I'm going to use from now on. People are being me. Yeah.

02:25:45 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 8:

Looked over at Mastro's restaurant, and I saw Nick Lachey and his wife standing up front. So I started to take pictures. He got really upset and came running over, and he punched my window, almost broke it. And then he started to walk away, and I rolled my window down, and then he made a big ruckus. And I presumed he was drunk because he was really acting weird and stuff. I did smell alcohol, and I even told him. I said, are you drunk? I didn't smell alcohol.

02:26:09 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 3:

He gets off on this whole deal. Kanye didn't get off at all. I'm sorry. Kanye got off on the deal. Nick did not get off on the deal.

02:26:15 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, AA and anger management. And whatever.

02:26:19 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 6:

What crazy is, like, wasn't Kanye was just a fan on the street, right? This is an actual paparazzi trying to record him.

02:26:26 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And lastly, Alyssa Carlson is that L.A. TV meteorologist who fainted during a live broadcast last week. Remember, I played you that audio.

02:26:34 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 1:

Let's start off with a check of your next weather with meteorologist Alyssa Carlson. She joins us live in the studio. Alyssa, this really is the calm before the storm. Not again. No. Oh. You know, we're going to go ahead and go to break right now.

02:26:48 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 5:

It was really scary to watch. Her eyes rolled back into her head. She slumped onto the studio floor. Well, she was explaining how she was feeling that morning.

02:26:56 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 4:

Initially, when this happened, I think a lot of people, including myself, thought I was having a heart attack on the air. That was not the case, thankfully. I hadn't had breakfast that morning. I also had been drinking a lot of coffee, and so most likely I was maybe a little dehydrated. So at that point, I thought, I'm just going to power through. I'll be fine as I usually am. I could feel the tunnel vision coming and just starting to get black.

02:27:17 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 5:

Thankfully she does have a diagnosis now And can move forward with some treatment

02:27:21 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 4:

I do have a history of fainting It hadn't happened in a while And I'm now going to have to learn How to really recognize the symptoms Of this condition

02:27:30 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 5:

I can't even pronounce what she has

02:27:32 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 6:

So was it the condition or was it that she didn't eat breakfast

02:27:35 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 5:

No it was this condition that she has Where she could just faint At any given moment For all of today's Dirty Check out the Dirty page on the Dirty in the Morning.com Let's go!

02:27:45 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 6:

02:29:54 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 7:

02:30:26 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and you take speed reading there?

02:30:28 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:30:29 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay, how's that working out? You like it?

02:30:36 - 02:30:38 | Speaker 3:

It's exhilarating.

02:30:38 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that sounds exhilarating.

02:30:41 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 3:

And I'm going to read your menu.

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 2:

Because you take speed reading.

02:30:46 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

02:31:01 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 3:

Tomatoes?

02:31:02 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 2:

Tomatoes.

02:31:03 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 3:

Olives?

02:31:05 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 2:

No olives.

02:31:07 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 3:

You don't have olives.

02:31:09 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 2:

I have olives, but we don't put them in the salad. But if you request it in the salad, I'd be more than happy to put it in there for you.

02:31:15 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 3:

Where else would you put the olives?

02:31:20 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 2:

I can put the olives, any food you'd like me to put the olives in.

02:31:25 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 3:

In the oatmeal?

02:31:26 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 2:

In the oatmeal, absolutely in the oatmeal.

02:31:28 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 3:

But not in a salad.

02:31:31 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 2:

If you ask me, I'm going to put it in the salad just for you.

02:31:34 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 3:

I don't like olives.

02:31:36 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 2:

I got you. I'm not going to put it in your salad.

02:31:40 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:31:40 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 2:

But you need to tell me your name so when you come in, I'll know who you are.

02:31:43 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 3:

My name is Shanu Maku.

02:31:49 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 2:

So if I do this star 69, am I going to get the phone number you're calling me from so I can find out where you're calling me from?

02:31:56 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 3:

You're going to get the radio station.

02:31:58 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 2:

Did I win something?

02:32:00 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 3:

No, you didn't win something. You've just been the victim of a phone scam. Well, not for nothing. You can put a plaque on the diner wall that says, I've been the victim of a phone scam.

02:32:12 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 2:

I've been here 41 years. You think this is my first phone scam? Thank you. Thank you very much.

02:32:19 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 3:

It's actually Philip Ripp and Klipple.

02:32:24 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 2:

I feel we know each other well enough where I can call you an asshole. How's that?

02:32:32 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. If I could say anything I wanted to, I'd say that was funny right there. I don't care who you are. It's the home of the world famous phone scams.

02:32:49 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning. What hours? So six, seven, eight, nine. It's hour five of the Mojo in the morning show, although we will only be here for half of it until 1030. And if you missed any of the previous four hours of the show, you can actually go check it out on our podcast page. Hey, real quick, we should actually ask the listeners this. What do you think KP should highlight on our social media today from what we've done already? What was your favorite thing that we did this morning? Will you text us at 95500 or say hi to us and call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE if you've been listening earlier this morning?

02:33:37 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm always, you know, a little preferring of the phone scam or five lies to tell your mom. But when you did Mojo's hookup hotline this morning. That was your favorite? That was my favorite. Same.

02:33:48 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, Steve, listener Steve, is an icon. He is an icon. An icon.

02:33:52 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 5:

Would you date him if you were single?

02:33:54 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 4:

I might go out on one date just for the show content.

02:33:58 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 2:

You'd make it home alive.

02:33:59 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 4:

How dare you?

02:34:00 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 3:

They're going to move in on Megan's guy?

02:34:02 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 4:

A real friend would have said, no, that's Megan's man. You're right. You're right.

02:34:07 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Megan?

02:34:07 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 4:

But Megan, technically, he's still available. Oh, wait. I'm suddenly married.

02:34:13 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to tell you, both of those were great. But you know, I always like the topics where we get like really good amount of phone calls, like where there's like a lot of people that call up and can relate to it. Started off with Megan's wake up bitch face instead of resting bitch face.

02:34:29 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 4:

Out of context, that sounds really bad for you to say. I know.

02:34:33 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 3:

No, it's great. No, I think the one. That was good. You're talking about topics. Everybody calling in, including all the officers calling in, giving tips on how to get out of a speeding ticket. That was good. That was not only good, that was useful.

02:34:44 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so that was actually pretty good. And then I like the Shannon's topic about when your ex just feels still, like, okay to come into your house and should you change the key of that. So there was a lot of good stuff on today's show. The dirties were really good.

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 1:

good there's a lot of good dirties there today we heard from gwyneth paltrow's uh attorneys on

02:35:05 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 4:

that ski lawsuit that's gonna be yeah that story's gonna blow up i think oh the taylor swift um

02:35:12 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 1:

couple that got married they were also on too so yeah you go check it out tell us what you think you can text us at 95500 boy the hookup hotline really was a big one we'll have to do that again I don't know. The problem, I like this one. The hookup hotline was chef's kiss. The only problem is you'll never be able to do, if you do that, if we do that as a reoccurring thing, you'll never be able to have a guy like Steve ever again. Because there's no way that he's.

02:35:41 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't know. Steve's got to be. You underestimate me. Yeah.

02:35:44 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 2:

Steve's got to be a misfit, though. I don't know what we call him, but Steve has got to be a misfit.

02:35:48 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, he'd be misfit banded. Banded. Banded. If you don't know what we're talking about. Oh, my God. You've got to go listen to the podcast.

02:35:55 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 4:

Honest to God, that was my favorite moment so far this week. Or can we call them Misfit Tozies?

02:35:59 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Tozies. I do hope that the date that did go through for John Mayer actually turns out to be a good date.

02:36:08 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm so jealous if you're going to John Mayer.

02:36:09 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Mike. Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike.

02:36:16 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 2:

And then there's Mike.

02:36:17 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 1:

And then there is Mike. Mike is the guy on the show who always has a topic that he brings up that makes me go, crap, this happened to me. Why didn't I actually write it down and talk about it first? And your topic that you're about to bring up right now has happened to me recently, and I can't believe I didn't talk about it on the air. So you got to talk about it.

02:36:43 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever accidentally sent a picture through airdrop to the wrong person or received a picture through airdrop from the wrong person? How bad was it? What did you send or what did you receive?

02:36:59 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Let's explain airdrop to the schmitties of the world that still have Android phones. By the way, did you hear that I gave her so much grief this weekend that she's contemplating an iPhone now?

02:37:11 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 3:

You shamed our poor coworker into getting a whole new phone. Yeah.

02:37:15 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 1:

Mike, you may actually get to be first to encounter it. You're an Apple bully. I am.

02:37:21 - 02:37:28 | Speaker 2:

She's so adamant about the Android, too, like loves it. We'll show you her pixels on each photo she takes. That's how into it she is.

02:37:28 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, you and I are on a group chat with her, and the green is driving me crazy on the group chat. So AirDrop is something that Apple users get to do where if you have a picture, you can actually send it to somebody without having to text it to them. It just airdrops to you and it asks you if you want it And my That it happened to me is when I recently Got on an airplane coming back from Florida Somebody on the airplane kept trying To airdrop me

02:37:52 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh that's weird

02:37:53 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 1:

And honestly I was a little bit weirded out by the person's Picture it was some dude It was like a hairy dude

02:37:59 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 4:

So you have your settings You had to reconfigure

02:38:02 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 1:

I had to make it so that you had to be a friend of mine In order to do it

02:38:06 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah because you can have it where anybody can send it to you

02:38:09 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 1:

Or just friends

02:38:10 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 2:

What was the picture? Do you remember what he sent you?

02:38:13 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 1:

Can I be honest with you? I just saw what the guy looked like fast, and I thought for sure he was sending me a picture of his hairy D. Because he had a hairy face. But then I thought to myself, is that a way that you pick up somebody? Maybe the guy was trying to pick me up.

02:38:26 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 2:

Could have been.

02:38:27 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 4:

But how do you know, how close was he to you? Because how do you know which, like, you don't know people's face. I don't know. You know what I mean?

02:38:32 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 1:

But I'm thinking maybe he, you know, looked at me. Because if I try to send an airdrop, can't you see what the person looks like?

02:38:40 - 02:38:42 | Speaker 4:

on there or no? Only if they have a

02:38:42 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 1:

picture attached to it. Hold on one second. Let's see if I can do that. If I go to send an airdrop, what does it show? Airdrop. I look at airdrop. Yep. Well, I can see Spike's got your picture. That's what it is. So I can see your guys' picture. For those people who don't. KP has KP on hers. So it's right there. I think mine's like the

02:39:06 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 6:

Bitmoji or whatever. Is it? Yeah, because I'm cute, and that's what young people do. Right, young people?

02:39:13 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 1:

That might be, by the way.

02:39:15 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 3:

Right, Megan. Right, right, right.

02:39:16 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 1:

That actually might be the way to pick people up is to airdrop. So 844.

02:39:22 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 6:

Send your dating resume to somebody.

02:39:23 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:39:24 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, that's not a bad idea. Yeah. But how do you not know if you are, like, sending it to the wrong phone? And how do you have a dating resume? Yeah, well, you got to be smart in these times.

02:39:34 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 4:

That's not a bad idea.

02:39:35 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 5:

Slam pickings out there.

02:39:36 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, it'd be the same thing as a Tinder bio, right?

02:39:38 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 5:

Sure, but you could also, because you can send files and stuff, like do your last clean testing round to make sure the person knows that you're clean.

02:39:46 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, you girls should have it set. See, I had my daughter switch it to only contacts can airdrop them because some douchebags in the airport kept dropping them in dirty pictures.

02:39:56 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 1:

Accidental airdrops. Misfit Victor, what's up?

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, everybody. How are you?

02:40:01 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Thank you for the shakes yesterday, by the way.

02:40:04 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no problem. Hi, Megan. Hi, Victor.

02:40:08 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 2:

Why are you shouting out Megan?

02:40:10 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 6:

Because he wants to cause problems every time he's on the air. I just want to see if she's still awake. Why? No, I air drop people everywhere I go. The mall, airports, the grocery store, whatever. You're exactly why Spike puts his daughters on private. But not dirty speech. I was on a Delta flight, so I changed my cell phone name to Delta Airlines, and then I just started sending pictures of certain celebrities to people, and everybody's accepting it because they see it's Delta Airlines. I was at Buffalo Wildings, changed my phone name to Buffalo Wildings.

02:40:44 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 4:

Didn't we do a story in the trending news last month where they had to ground a Delta Airlines flight because somebody was airdropping stuff to passengers and freaking them out?

02:40:52 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 6:

I know. I was so disappointed that that wasn't my flight. I was like, hey, this is horrible.

02:40:57 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 2:

What celebrities do you choose for that? Do you choose?

02:41:02 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Well, a lot of them are like celebrity mugshots or like, you know, whatever, this and that. Just celebrities in compromising positions, like certain presidential.

02:41:11 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 2:

Quick question for you. Why do you not just enjoy the fact that you got Wi-Fi and watch a movie? Is the entertainment on Delta Airlines that bad that you can't just enjoy yourself?

02:41:25 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 6:

My entertainment channel, the Victor Network, is a lot more entertaining than any movie on Delta.

02:41:31 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Victor, you should have done this. You should have taken a picture of somebody and then airdropped it to that person, and you should have wrote, have you seen this person?

02:41:39 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 6:

The lady next to me is opening the airdrop that I sent her. Oh, my God. Yeah, and I have tears. I have tears coming out of my eyes, and she's replying, please stop doing that. It's lying.

02:41:51 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 3:

So this is what happened to me yesterday is I accidentally airdropped the picture. We were at the White Cap Stadium trying food or whatever, and I airdropped this ridiculous picture of, like, a cardboard me, and the amount of people, because I clicked the wrong person first, and I tried to undo it. You can't undo it once you send it. So then I kept clicking people, and it was the wrong person. The amount of people that will open these up every time you send them, they'll open it more times than not, even if they don't know you.

02:42:15 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 2:

That's funny.

02:42:16 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 7:

Well, I'd be curious.

02:42:17 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Jay?

02:42:19 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 5:

Jay, yeah, I was at a truck stop one time. I drive a truck, and I set my phone down. The guy behind me in line is like, oh, you got an iPhone, huh? I said, yeah. He said, are you the one sending drop pics? And I'm like, no, why? There was somebody sending drop pics out in the lot of their junk, telling them what truck number and everything. Oh, wow. Sorry, it's not funny.

02:42:38 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait, so the person was ready to go after you, huh?

02:42:44 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 5:

I don't know who they were after, but it sure wasn't me, that's for sure. Yeah.

02:42:47 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 4:

You have to do a junk lineup and prove it's not your junk. That'd be interesting.

02:42:54 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Can't you see, though? You can see the person's name, right?

02:42:58 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 4:

You could change the name. Victor said he changed it to Delta AirDrop.

02:43:02 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, right. Okay.

02:43:03 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 5:

I didn't get the AirDrop myself. It was just another driver that had gotten it sent to his phone. He was asking me if I was the one sending it.

02:43:10 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Maybe he was hoping you were the one sending it. That might be the pickup line, right?

02:43:16 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:43:16 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

That might be his thing that he's doing. All right. Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. what a way what a technology these days all the craziness that people do with their technology um all right uh mike by the way i realize this you've got dry mouth right now you you did that a couple of times uh with that the way you do that sound like my dog yeah i did that yeah you got a little dry mouth you had to stop from the thing eating cashews no i didn't know when you were talking you did and now it's got me like really thirsty like i'm really really thirsty

02:43:47 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 7:

You want this? I haven't opened it. I got my water.

02:43:51 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I just saw this the other day. I got this thing, this water bottle. Anthony from Imagine bought me this Lark water bottle because he saw it up on what the hell is Mark Cuban's show's name? Shark Tank. Saw it on Shark Tank.

02:44:06 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 5:

Here he goes with the water bottle obsession.

02:44:10 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Reusing water bottles are causing more people to get sick because of the bacterial infections that they have.

02:44:16 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

water bottle. So what's the difference

02:44:18 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 2:

with that? Well, the problem is that people you put, like instead of you just going out and buying, you know, you go buy a new water bottle, you open it up and you drink out of the water bottle. Well, these new, so this thing actually cleans, it supposedly cleans the water, but the problem is this. If you don't clean the top of this thing right here, because your mouth is on there for all the time, and your mouth transports germs all the time, if you don't clean this every single day, couple times a day, you're getting sick

02:44:46 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 4:

they said a water bottle can contain twice as much bacteria as a toilet seat yeah yep you're closing it it's dark and it's just sitting there multiplying so that that special fancy pants water bottle you have i'm guessing has the u

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

light in the lid so it it's it cleans the water in the bottle but not the lip around this oh so

02:45:06 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 4:

it did it did one of the sharks not take it then no the sharks took it it's actually very very

02:45:10 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 2:

popular because people will travel like you know spike memory went on an african trip he goes to africa you're not supposed to drink you know the water so you had to bring like some kind of thing

02:45:19 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 1:

i have a water purifier that you put into water a water bottle and it does but this but this is You have to clean the lip portion where you touch.

02:45:27 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 2:

Your reusable water bottle that you're using every day, that Yeti or the yoga striking thing, the things that people use, that water bottle has more germs on it than a, what did you say, a toilet seat, right?

02:45:43 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they say compare it to a toilet seat or a dog bowl. Those things are both cleaner because at least they're out in the open air and sunlight where the water bottle is in the dark. When you close that lid and screw it on, you're just helping that bacteria multiply.

02:45:57 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 3:

I have a stomach bug right now. I almost didn't come in today because I had bubble guts or whatever. That's probably why my mouth is going, because I genuinely don't feel good right now. I wanted to go home halfway through the show. But I wonder now, because I don't wash. I'll be honest. I don't wash this water bottle. I've used it a million times. I got this Smart Water water bottle, but I reuse it.

02:46:20 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 4:

There's a stomach bug going around, Mike.

02:46:22 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is there really?

02:46:23 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 4:

And they're talking about the ones, like, not those plastic ones that you're just going to throw away.

02:46:26 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I'm talking.

02:46:27 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 4:

He's talking about, like, the. Yeah, but Mike's also reusing. It's not a, like, for him, it's not disposable.

02:46:33 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. This is the same water bottle. Fantastic water bottle. So he's getting the bacteria and the plastics.

02:46:39 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 4:

Because he's cheap. No, I get it. Yeah.

02:46:43 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 2:

So you keep using the thing over and over and over again? Yeah, for, like, the last week. I'll do it for, like, a week, and then I'll throw it away. Oh, usually.

02:46:49 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 1:

My mom will do that with Diet Pepsi. She'll have a Diet Pepsi. That's gross. Then she'll refill the plastic Diet Pepsi thing. So she's like, well, then I can take it in the car with me. I'm like, Mom, you've been using the same Diet Pepsi bottle for the last month.

02:47:01 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 2:

What does she refill it with?

02:47:02 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 1:

With Diet Pepsi, she'll take a two-liter bottle and pour it into the little bottle. And then she'll put a straw in it, and she's using the same straw and the same water bottle for a month, which also sits in the sunlight of her cup holder.

02:47:18 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

02:47:19 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 1:

This is why I am the way I am.

02:47:22 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's wild though It's wild that we don't It seems obvious, right? That we should be re-washing these things It seems obvious that we shouldn't be doing it

02:47:33 - 02:47:36 | Speaker 4:

But in your brain, if you guys are like me I'm like, it's just water though

02:47:36 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 2:

And I think it's my own germs

02:47:38 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 4:

It's not coffee, it's not a protein It's water, it's clean

02:47:43 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Like Chelsea saw me drinking out of this Lark bottle That I got And she saw me drink out of it And I hadn't brushed my teeth that day And so she's like, you're going to wash that bottle, right? And I go, no, it's my own germs. And she goes, you didn't want to brush your teeth. I'm like, oh, my God. I did realize that. I'm like, oh, because I'll have it next to my bed. It's so good, by the way, this water. I had, want to hear a crazy thing?

02:48:05 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 4:

I love when he gets obsessed with it. No, I'm obsessed with it. A water bottle.

02:48:09 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 2:

No, no, this is not a MyPillow, all right? I'm not giving it to him. Or a Skechers shape-ups. Or a Skechers shape-ups.

02:48:14 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Remember the Yeti with the ice that sat in here for six days?

02:48:17 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 2:

It was a fantastic Yeti. I know it was.

02:48:20 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 4:

I got one. You've influenced me.

02:48:22 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

They're the greatest thing ever. You put ice in a Yeti, and guess what? It stays in there forever. This lark, I poured cold water into this lark, then did our broadcast on Friday at Kennedy's, went to Grand Rapids for Irish and Ionia, came home Sunday morning. It was just sitting next to my bed there. Two days. It was ice cold.

02:48:46 - 02:48:50 | Speaker 4:

But is it tiny water bottle? How did you not drink all that water in two days?

02:48:50 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 2:

Because I didn't have it with me I didn't have it with me

02:48:54 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 3:

I thought you were bragging about

02:48:56 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, I drink water Hot take that you're going to disagree with But room temperature water is much better for you anyway I don't care It's gross I hate room temperature water It quenches your thirst more easily It's better for your digestion It causes you to be less hungry Because you're not constricting the blood vessels in your stomach

02:49:17 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 2:

You know what it reminds me of? It reminds me of going to my grandma's house, and we would ask for something to drink. She only had water, and it was the hottest water ever.

02:49:25 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 3:

And there were floaties in the car. Yeah, right. Exactly. Oh, my God. Yeah. Mojo in the Morning's Top Trending Stories.

02:49:31 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, Top Trending Stories, and then we're out of here for today. Oh, if you missed the More Mojo podcast, that's something else that we've got to promote. It's the After Show podcast. Get to go behind the scenes with the show. We posted one yesterday. It's up available right now. Just search More Mojo and subscribe to that. And then today is Wednesday, which means it will be the slightly messy show, Mike and Megan's show, on the More Mojo podcast platform. It's very messy today because...

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 1:

No joke, I had to change my underwear this morning.

02:50:02 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 2:

Mike, wait a second.

02:50:03 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 5:

That's how bubble gutty you are? Yes, it's that. Thank you so much for sharing.

02:50:07 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Do you think we all are going to get it? No. We were with you. No, because I got it from my kids who had it like Monday. My daughter was off Monday, Tuesday.

02:50:15 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 4:

And Luz had that last week. That's why she was home.

02:50:17 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 3:

KP had it, or Lydia, or who was it? Somebody on the show had the bubble gut when we were leaving Grand Rapids.

02:50:24 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 2:

That was all KP.

02:50:25 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 1:

That was KP.

02:50:25 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 4:

It was spicy bubble, not bubble.

02:50:27 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was a lava butt, she said.

02:50:30 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 2:

I got more bubblegum yesterday after those shakes that Victor brought.

02:50:34 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I think you might be lactose intolerant. You might have to. You might seriously might want to think about it. Dr. Warner says.

02:50:40 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 2:

Let me add that to the list of things I got to do.

02:50:42 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Warner says that dairy is bad for you. All right. Let me throw out a couple of things here. Oh, this is an interesting one. dog and cat owners 37 of your conversation is about pets so more than half of you uh who have pets um that's all you talk about is your pets so your conversation that you have with each other is basically about them now i i'm not i'm not in that 36 so i'm you know we don't talk about it The only time we talk about our pet is, will you take Henry outside? He wants to go outside again or something like that. But it's never about that. But this kind of makes me wonder, like, what are you talking about? Like, what is your conversation about if you're talking about your pet so often? Like, people have all kinds of things that they love to talk about. Why would your pet be your main focal conversation?

02:51:38 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, but for some people, their pet is their baby. Yeah, but if you're... You know, they're obsessed with their pet.

02:51:44 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Or is it all negative? Like, did you see what this little a-hole did today? It ate a hole in my blanket, and, oh, look, it humped our friend.

02:51:52 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

They don't talk about what the conversation is, but if you're a pet owner, that's pretty much what you're talking about. What is the most common birthday? So they went and looked at the facts of when people were born, looking at records, public records, and they found the most common birthday was in September, September the 9th. in second and third place was september the 19th and 12th so september is the month most common for people to be able to have birthdays birthdays you know in order as far as you know commonality um one of the least common days february the 29th obviously Also, Christmas, December the 25th, one of the most least common birthdays, having a Christmas birthday. Do we have any September 9th birthdays listening to the show?

02:52:54 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday to you. The president will sing to you. You know why I've heard that edges out other months a little bit? Happy birthday to you. Because everybody's cozy around the holidays and they're all creating little Christmas vacation babies.

02:53:08 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is? So when you're born in September, you were conceived around the holidays.

02:53:14 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 3:

Around the holidays, yeah. But it's just a little edges out of the other months by just a little bit.

02:53:19 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 1:

Did you guys hear the story about the escaped cow that was running through the streets of Brooklyn?

02:53:23 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I saw the picture. They're Brooklyn. Yeah.

02:53:27 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 1:

So there is a slaughterhouse that is right there. And the animal.

02:53:32 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm rooting for the cow already.

02:53:34 - 02:53:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, the small cow got away, a little black calf.

02:53:37 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 3:

Cow, take the R2 red line and get out of there.

02:53:40 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 1:

Escape from a vehicle just outside of the slaughterhouse. It took a little bit of time for them to kind of wrangle the cow back. They got the cow. Here's the interesting thing. No one was hurt. The cow was safely returned to the slaughterhouse unharmed. Safely returned to the slaughterhouse. To be murdered. No. Awesome. They say they're not going to slaughter the cow. They say that they're going to find the cow at home.

02:54:02 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 5:

How many thousands of cows do they slaughter every year?

02:54:04 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 3:

They're saying that to all the hipsters hanging around Brooklyn, seeing them walk them right into the building.

02:54:09 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 1:

Do you think a cow can sense that it's about to be slaughtered?

02:54:14 - 02:54:27 | Speaker 5:

Temple Grandin literally created that entire system because cows were literally killing themselves before they could get to the slaughterhouse. Every time I hear stuff like this, if I really stopped to think about it, I would become a vegetarian. It's really sad.

02:54:27 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 3:

They're very intelligent, and they know what's going on.

02:54:29 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 5:

Every time I want to be vegan again, I just go watch Food, Inc., and then I'm vegan for a year. Every time.

02:54:35 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 1:

My dogs can sense when we're pulling into our vet's office. Same. Yeah.

02:54:41 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 5:

And my dog can also sense when I turn into my neighborhood or my dad's neighborhood or my mom's neighborhood. He is so smart.

02:54:47 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they get all kind of crazy, huh?

02:54:49 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And my dog's dumb and she knows that stuff. So imagine smart animals.

02:54:53 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 1:

Why do you say that?

02:54:54 - 02:54:57 | Speaker 5:

Because my dog really is a gremlin idiot and I love her more than that.

02:54:58 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

And last.

02:55:00 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 7:

story we've talked about this before remember about the people that are that guy that actually was going to all the like disneyland like every day of the year well a new fan that's obsessed with disney by the name of nathan fire sheets he visited all 12 disney theme parks across the globe in 12 days taking a spin on all 216 operated rides how was he able to do that in 12 days Well, not 12 consecutive days.

02:55:31 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm sure Disney actually ordered him through it for the record.

02:55:34 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 7:

It's a great publicity story. So Firefleet's visited Walt Disney Studios, Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. And he actually did this. What is this name? Did he do it on the same days or 12 consecutive days?

02:56:03 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm thinking it sounds like to me.

02:56:04 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 7:

Did he have a private plane to go do that?

02:56:07 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's got to be something.

02:56:08 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 6:

Who is this? Oh, good for him. I know.

02:56:11 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 2:

I want to go to Tokyo Disney so bad. Do they have different rides that they don't have here? Yeah, they have the best animatronic Disney owns, and it looks like Belle is dancing on a ride and it's an animatronic. It is incredibly cool.

02:56:25 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 4:

I just want to go to Disney in general. I've never actually been.

02:56:28 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 6:

It's getting harder and harder to afford for a family But man, it is a bucket list

02:56:34 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 7:

I will tell you this That I wanted just to have the show To be able to broadcast at Cedar Point And be treated like respectable human beings That's what I want

02:56:44 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 4:

Is there any way that we can have that happen? Disney might be easier for us to fulfill Come on

02:56:48 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 7:
