00:03:17 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. anybody know if mercury is in retrograde i woke up this morning went out to my garage to start my car and my battery was dead today oh really yeah so i had to take chelsea's car in which is uh a little cute volkswagen and when i pulled through the uh starbucks drive through because they know that my order was there because i always end up mobile ordering it and then i get to the the window, and I go, hi, got a mobile order, and they're like, oh, hey, Majo, so I pull around, I got giggles as I was pulled up in the thing, seeing a large man in a little car, but yeah, I'm trying to figure out if there's like a Mercury retrograde thing going on right now, because I went to bed last night after we were out last night at that Pistons game, and I don't think anything was wrong, my car ran fine on my way home, so I have no idea. Yeah, and I only slept like five hours, I mean, how many hours were we home? I got home at like 10 o'clock last night. So that till, you know, four or something in the morning, that shouldn't have been enough, even if there was a little light in the car to cause your battery to die. But, yeah.

00:04:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

It's a weird morning, too. I turned on the lights in my kitchen, and one of them exclaimed.

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 1:

exploded and sparks like actual sparks shot down onto my kitchen countertop doesn't it scare the

00:05:06 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 4:

crap out of you when a light bulb burns out like that I can't believe I didn't wake the kids up

00:05:09 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

because I screamed so loud and then it was smoking and then all of a sudden I turned around and my sink was totally filled with water so I had to you guys you would be so proud of me I actually before the show this morning cleared out everything from under my sink Tightened some pipes Mopped up some water I mean I felt like a Wow

00:05:29 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

So was it Was there a Clog or something Or what was in it

00:05:33 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

There wasn't a clog I'm going to be very technical Here with how I describe What I did There are rings Around the pipes And one of them was loose And it was like Spewing water underneath There as well Oh jeez So I just had to tighten it up

00:05:45 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god Well

00:05:45 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 1:

But

00:05:46 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Mercury retrograde Probably Are you afraid

00:05:50 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 5:

We're going to go home to

00:05:51 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

I mean I didn't loosen the pipe So yeah I'm going to google

00:05:54 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 4:

i'm googling right now are we in mercury retrograde answer is right technology is what's

00:06:03 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

affected yeah yeah that's what happened this morning i thought that i had my phone and i didn't i got 15 minutes in i had to turn all the way back around oh my phone was in between my

00:06:13 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 1:

seats this morning so pleasant and i just spilled my drink all down the front mercury really a great Warning.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Mercury retrograde. Hold on a second. It says here, it says.

00:06:24 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

Is Mercury retrograde?

00:06:25 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What comes up is, last Mercury retrograde of 2023 is a little different than the previous two, due to the fact that Mercury moves from Capricorn to Sagittarius during the backwards dance. A backwards dance.

00:06:38 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I have it on my calendar, actually. Mercury retrograde begins April 21st, so we're not there yet.

00:06:44 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh. So what do they call this? Remember the last time we.

00:06:47 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 5:

They call this your house and your car falling apart.

00:06:50 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, there was something that we did last time, remember? There was like some kind of a thing that was going on. It was like Uranus is in your Venus or something like that. No, there was somebody that said, somebody called us up and told us that there was something else that was going on. But all right. Well, the other thing, too, then is last night was a lot of fun going to the Pistons game, but no more field trips on Monday nights. Yeah. So field trips Thursdays or Fridays or Saturdays because I am dragging today. We went to the Pistons game last night, and if I'm dragging, I can only imagine Mike and Megan who drove in from Toledo, which is, you know, what, an hour or so away. And then Mike, who had over a two-hour drive, what time did you finally get back last night?

00:07:38 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

About midnight, a little before midnight. And I had one of those. I don't even ever drink these, but the five-hour energy drinks. Oh, my gosh. I drank the entire thing almost.

00:07:47 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 5:

Wow. I felt bad because I was talking to Mike for a while, trying to keep him awake and, you know, talking about show stuff. And then I finally pulled into my garage. I'm like, okay, good night. Well, I know you have an hour and a half to go, but I'm home. I got to go to bed.

00:08:00 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

I shotgunned my first Red Bull this morning. I've got a backup already to go.

00:08:06 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Does it work better if you shotgun it?

00:08:08 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

I feel like the heart attack feeling Sets in quicker

00:08:12 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 4:

You were on the phone with Spike

00:08:15 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I'm literally talking to him He's like yeah yeah trying to keep me awake And all of a sudden I can tell he's going to get me off the phone Because he starts whispering He's like alright man I'm like no no so let's keep talking He's like I gotta get up early

00:08:29 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 5:

I was talking to him while I was And then I was like trying to find things to do outside To like keep the conversation going So I took the trash cans out while I was talking to him And then a neighbor walked out, and I realized, well, I'm being really loud, and it's like 10 o'clock at night in the neighborhood. So then I go in the house, and then I'm like, oh, Meg's putting her son to sleep. I got to start whispering. And then I'm like, well, now it just sounds like I'm trying to hang up the phone, which I was.

00:08:51 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 4:

And normally you can get sympathy from people, the fact that you have to wake up early. But he does too. Right, exactly. And he has a drive that he's doing.

00:08:59 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

And I was going to say, then I walk in and I realized Megan already put her son to bed early because it was the bachelor finale. And so then I wasn't allowed to talk to her because it was the bachelor finale.

00:09:12 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you missed. Wait, you went to the Pistons game and missed the bachelor finale.

00:09:16 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Aren't I lucky? And I thought you were into the bachelor. No, I do not like the bachelor. I tolerated in the house because it's her one pure joy, which I'll tell you later about that. i i miss i assigned her a project because i was going to the pistons game with you guys it was the first hoa meeting the homeowners association in our new neighborhood where we bought a house and so i was like we have to attend this thing because they said you know they sent us an important letter we have to be on this meeting but i was gonna be at the pistons game so i told meg listen you have to go to this homeowners meeting well she was so mad because it was the bachelor finale and i'm not there she has to do it herself and the whole meeting

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 2:

was older women trying to connect to zoom how do they not know over the last three years how

00:10:05 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 1:

to get on zoom i don't know they don't do them in person in your neighborhood so for some reason

00:10:08 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 2:

this one was going to be on zoom and nobody knew how to get into zoom first off i'm proud of you

00:10:13 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

for even going to those things because i don't think i've ever attended any neighborhood meetings

00:10:17 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 2:

like that explain to the brokes what is so if you own a house in most neighborhoods if you own a house there's a homeowners association and it's like you have rules to make sure there's bylaws

00:10:28 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 1:

To make sure Megan's dad doesn't park all the trucks Yeah, I didn't want to say that

00:10:33 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

But if there's a neighbor that has six cars out in the driveway That's the kind of, you know, they have these rules So you can't do that

00:10:39 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

There's one thing we've learned from the show It's that you don't move into a neighborhood with an HOA

00:10:44 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, here it seems like almost everybody has them Every home I looked at Move out to the sticks Yeah, yeah, if you get more rural Then I guess you don't have to worry about But if it's a neighborhood or development but um so they have all these rules and it ends up being a bunch of catty petty people arguing about the the length of your fence or the color of your siding and it's just stupid stuff your bushes are in the way and it's uh especially when you get someone in charge there's nothing else to do and this gives them life because they just they look forward to being the boss of the neighborhood so anyway she had to listen to an hour of people talk about dog poop and goose poop in the neighborhood and that was it that was the mundane neighborhood drama and people were arguing over what they could do about the geese and they were arguing over whose neighbor whose houses they sit in front of like you can control geese and then a lady's like well can't we just put a fence around the neighborhood and then someone else explained to her that geese fly yes they do and they said well should we drain the neighborhood pond and the retention pond and they're like well no that's there for a reason and it was just all this stuff and she's just trying to get off this meeting to get on the bachelor and she can't because they take attendance and you have to be there and

00:12:03 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 1:

but what are they going to do to you if you don't go to the thing you know i don't know what will they will they actually uh find you or something like that they really can't do that can they i

00:12:12 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 2:

don't know how it works i don't know it's a brand new neighborhood no way so i know all i know is We pay a lot of dues to this homeowners association, and I'm trying to figure out what it is for.

00:12:24 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

I always thought in my last neighborhood we had the homeowners association, and I always thought that their main job was just to field complaints from people that had too much time and then field, like, complaints about—

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Tell people to take down the Christmas lights in March. Right.

00:12:39 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 1:

Bring their garbage cans in, you know, the day after garbage day. Right. But the only complaint I did have was we actually were— we'd never get our snow plowed. So that was the thing. And we lived in the county, but the county wouldn't plow our snow. They were supposed to, but they never would. And so we had to pay an outside company. And the person that plowed the snow was the buddy of the head of the HOA. I think that there was a little big city corruption going on there with the HOA. I think that there was, yeah. I think that we should have had the problem solvers come out and do a little investigative reporting on the HOA.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, you have to be in good standing because I want to build a deck in the backyard. Oh, there's the reason why you have to go.

00:13:20 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 1:

Does that have to be approved?

00:13:21 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:

I have to have an HOA. Yeah, it has to be approved by the HOA. You had all two remotives. Yeah, so you want to be a good neighbor because all these old biddies have to approve the design and the size and the color of your deck. Wow. Of your what? I got to show them my deck.

00:13:38 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 1:

Well, so we went to the Pistons game last night, and you can go check it out on our social media. But they were really nice. They invited us out. They hosted us. They put us up on the big, you know, Jumbotron. Kevin, the in-stadium announcer, you know, made an announcement, gave us a very nice little plug. And they gave us seats that practically were touching the ceiling. I mean, I realized when they said that they were going to actually host us, I thought to myself, I'm like, oh, this is cool. Milwaukee Bucks game. Well, I think it might have been their big sold out game that they had because the place was packed and I've been to many Pistons games this year and I've never seen the Pistons games that crowded as it was. So I think they gave us whatever tickets probably didn't sell and so we were kind of up there and then they said they were going to put us on and I'm thinking, how are they going to show us

00:14:31 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 2:

all the way up there? They send the cameras all the way

00:14:33 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 1:

up here? Yeah, and they didn't bring a guy out with a camera. They had like their security camera or something

00:14:39 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 3:

It was the most unflattering angle, by the way.

00:14:42 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 2:

It was. I think it was a drone they flew up to the top seat.

00:14:45 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 1:

No, you know what it was, though, Megan? We were sitting in the seat, so we didn't stand up. We all sat there.

00:14:50 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

And it was dark. It was kind of dark where we were. Once I saw the angle, I was like, there's no way I'm standing up, so you all get a lower angle.

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 4:

No, you know what the problem is, too? You don't know exactly when they're going to come up with you. And you ever get out of those seats, you have a hard time. I have a hard time getting out of those seats.

00:15:08 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 8:

Well, I told Megan, because Megan and I were sitting right next to each other, and I said, my nose is itching me really bad. But I know that as soon as I go to itch my nose, the camera is going to come on us, and it's going to look like I'm picking my nose. So I just let it go.

00:15:23 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 7:

Did you see me and Lydia in the front? Yeah. Lydia was trying to get out of the shop because she looked like Mojo's biggest fan. They placed us. They had the five seats, and then they placed us, too, which doesn't make any sense because there was empty seats next to you guys. So I don't know why they placed us there, and we were out of the shot. It's Mojo in the Mojo!

00:15:48 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 4:

If you watch right here, Mojo swings his arm and hits me head four times. You know what's funny? Spike and I look like gay dads with their kids. Did you know that?

00:16:00 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 8:

And then the camera stayed on us, and so we were all like, do we dance? So then we're like awkwardly dancing. I just like bouncing.

00:16:09 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 6:

I thought we were going to wave, and then I'm like, oh, are they going to just keep looking at us for the whole time out? This is going to be a long wave.

00:16:16 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

And the moms that were behind us that took their kids for spring break, they went to the Pistons game, they didn't know who we were. And previously, like for the first quarter, Mike, Spike, myself, and Megan kept getting up and moving back and forth. Oh, my God. We couldn't find our seats. It looked like we stole those seats. And then they were like, oh, this is kind of cool. So they were actually really sweet. And their kids were great. Their kids were big fans. The little kid sitting next to Mike was the best. He must have been probably 9 or 10 years old. And he was heckling the referees. Oh, it was great.

00:16:49 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it was so cute. It didn't matter that we were five miles from the court. He was going to heckle those guys out.

00:16:54 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 4:

It was so good. Yeah, that was absolutely fun. So thank you guys for doing that. Thanks, Lydia, for setting it up. That was a lot of fun. Yeah. So fun. Thanks, Megan, for the taco bowl, which actually was good. Thank you, Megan.

00:17:08 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 6:

And my beer. It was so nice of her to buy my beer.

00:17:11 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 4:

Megan gets angry when she doesn't get to buy. And so yesterday, she literally took my credit card and I think threw it. She actually threw a half-court pass or a full-court pass of the credit card to get it out of the machine.

00:17:24 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 7:

The way I literally lunged in front of you. I've never been so athletic since high school.

00:17:29 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 4:

You chose violence. I was worried we were all going to hurt ourselves during that moment. We'd have to call the Pistons trainer to come up in. Excuse me, can we borrow that trainer that's out there on the court?

00:17:39 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 7:

Pulled a hammy trying to get a taco bowl.

00:17:44 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 5:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in 10s. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:52 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 4:

It was the year that Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to her husband, Will Smith, that she was having an entanglement.

00:17:59 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 2:

You and I were going through a very difficult time.

00:18:02 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:18:03 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 2:

And we decided.

00:18:04 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 3:

I was done with your ass.

00:18:05 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you kicked me to the curb.

00:18:06 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 3:

I was done with you.

00:18:07 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:18:09 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 3:

Marriages have that, though. Marriages have that.

00:18:11 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we basically, we broke up.

00:18:13 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 3:

And then what did you do, Jada?

00:18:14 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, I think from there, you know, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement.

00:18:23 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

I love that. An entanglement. Kanye West ran for president in this year.

00:18:28 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 1:

Kanye West has officially filed to get his name on the ballot as a presidential candidate in Wisconsin.

00:18:34 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 4:

And the big song. Now I know the year. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. Good luck.

00:18:44 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 5:

I mean, many think that it led to that craziness that happened at the Academy Awards.

00:19:04 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 4:

This was the year that Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to an entanglement to Will Smith. The entanglement was with that guy. What was his name?

00:19:12 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 2:

August Alsina.

00:19:14 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 4:

who is her son's friend?

00:19:16 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 2:

You and I were going through a very difficult time.

00:19:20 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:19:21 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 2:

And we decided...

00:19:21 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 3:

I was done with your ass. Yeah, you kicked me to the curb. I was done with you.

00:19:24 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:19:26 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Marriages have that, though. Marriages have that.

00:19:29 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we basically, we broke up.

00:19:31 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 3:

And then what did you do, Jada?

00:19:32 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, I think from there, you know, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement.

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Kanye announced that he was running for president.

00:19:43 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 1:

Kanye West has officially filed to get his name on the ballot as a presidential candidate in Wisconsin.

00:19:49 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 4:

And the big song, what year was this? Hi, Melissa, what year was that? 2020. Yeah, there you go. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:19:58 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, tell me.

00:20:00 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you remember that. Congratulations, Tia. We're going to set you up. We got a prize here, and I completely forgot what the heck of the prize. Oh, tickets to go see Dierks Bentley at Pine Knob on June the 2nd. Congratulations. Oh, my gosh, thanks. Have a fantastic time. Where are you calling us from? Southgate. Appreciate you listening to us. Have a great day. Are you spring break-in? Thanks, guys. You doing anything? I'm just dropping grandkids off. Wait, you do not have grandkids. Yeah. Oh, my gosh. You sound like a grandkid. That's what you sound like. Oh, thanks, 47. Oh, okay. Wow, okay. You're a glamour. It's nice to have you on here. Hang on the phone for just one second. Notice that yesterday when we were at the game, we ran into a ton of our listeners from all three cities, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Toledo. And a lot of people were on spring break this week. So that means that, you know, we got you. We got you, the lone non-spring-breaking listener. And you know what? We will entertain you, and that's all that matters, right? We're going to give you a chance. Maybe this will be a better opportunity to win Taylor Swift tickets. Text Taylor to 95500 for a chance to win. Text to win right now. Taylor to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply. Giving away tickets to see Taylor Swift, Drake, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran. We've got your tickets. Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30. Shannon's going to get us caught up on what's trending this morning with The Dirty on the 30.

00:21:31 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 3:

Unfortunately, another school shooting is trending this morning in The Dirty. The shooting that happened yesterday in Nashville was devastating. Three nine-year-olds and three adults are dead this morning. A shooter identified by police as a 28-year-old Nashville resident also is dead.

00:21:51 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 1:

She was a former student at the school. I don't know what grade she's attended or grades, but we do firmly believe she was a student there. She does identify as transgender.

00:22:05 - 00:22:24 | Speaker 3:

Police say the suitor entered the Covenant, which is a private Christian school with two assault rifles and a handgun, and was shot dead after being engaged by officers at the scene. Preschool to sixth grade is what the school encompasses. The school did not have armed resource officers on campus when the attack occurred.

00:22:25 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 1:

So it was five officers that immediately went in and addressed. We have video that we're going to release, but you can see in the video, you can hear gunfire going on as they're in the school. They addressed the threat and take that threat down.

00:22:41 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 3:

The shooter was killed four minutes into the shooting. Police are looking into the why. They don't have a specific motive just yet.

00:22:48 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 1:

No, we have a manifesto. We have some writings that we're going over that pertain to this day, the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place. There's right now a theory that we may be able to talk about later, but it's not confirmed. And so we'll put that out as soon as we can.

00:23:10 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 2:

They did confirm, by the way, overnight, they said that there was written in that manifesto was her resentment towards going to that school and resentment towards the people that taught at that school. So that was ABC News reporting that this morning. It's very sad. Very, very sad that the picture that I kept seeing yesterday was the picture of that child that was on the bus pressed up against the window with tears. It's just awful.

00:23:38 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 3:

In Other Dirty this morning, Emily Ratajkowski is begging for her friend Olivia Wilde's forgiveness after that video of her sloppily making out with her ex Harry Styles went viral.

00:23:49 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 2:

Why does she need to do that, though? Because they're friends. They're no longer together, Olivia and Harry are no longer together.

00:23:54 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 3:

No, I know, but, yeah. Just a few weeks ago, Emily and Olivia were photographed hanging out together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party last June, and we talked about this yesterday. They were seated next to each other in the VIP section at Harry's show in Paris. Emily even came to Olivia's defense when she was facing criticism about her relationship with Harry when she was promoting her movie Don't Worry Darling, saying she was very, very protective of her friend. She didn't want anybody talking bad about her. And she swooped in and was making out with her ex-boyfriend. But sources tell me anything that's related to Harry, Olivia wants nothing to do with. So she's out.

00:24:32 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 2:

She was definitely not sorry when she was slobbering with him. That was unbelievable.

00:24:37 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 3:

Does it make you feel like the Harry-Olivia relationship was even more of a PR relationship when stuff like this happens?

00:24:43 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, then. Why would she be apologizing? You know?

00:24:47 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Just to look good in the past. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. More celebrity relationship dirty. Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik sparked dating rumors over the weekend after being spotted having dinner together and kissing.

00:25:00 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 2:

Not as sloppily as Emily and Harry, but they were in New York City.

00:25:07 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 1:

I still can't get over it. It was so awkward. You know who's group chat? I want to be in, and Lydia brought this up yesterday, is Bella and Gigi's because now Selena has dated both of their exes.

00:25:16 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:25:17 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:25:19 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, so fans are pointing out with this Selena and Zayn thing that they actually hooked up years before their most recent date night. But sources say their first hookup happened way back in the day when Selena's friend, Taylor Swift, was dating Harry Styles. This is all just very close for comfort. They had a thing then, apparently. So friends say it doesn't really surprise them at all that they're potentially together today.

00:25:44 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 5:

Did you see Taylor last night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards? It was awesome. On Fox, broadcast on Fox. And obviously you can go check out our social and follow iHeartRadio. But Taylor looked great there last night.

00:25:57 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:25:57 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 5:

And it was great. By the way, we'll have to recap a bunch of the awards because we missed them because we were at the Pistons game.

00:26:03 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yep. And lastly, a one-eyed cat named Crash is the first ever cat to win the Cadbury Bunny Contest, making him the brand's official, quote-unquote, spokes bunny for 2023. Crash was injured in a devastating car accident, which left him severely injured and only with one eye. While healing at a local shelter, his quirky personality earned him the love of the shelter staff. They entered him into this Cadbury bunny contest. So as the winner, Crash will be the star of this year's Cadbury clucking bunny commercial. He will also receive a prize of five grand for himself and five grand for his shelter.

00:26:42 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 5:

The only Cadbury that I know is Cadbury eggs.

00:26:44 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 2:

That's what this is. Is that what it is? Yeah.

00:26:46 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 5:

And they actually have a mascot?

00:26:48 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 2:

Every year they do a new, like, quote-unquote bunny, like a new spokesperson.

00:26:51 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 5:

I never knew that.

00:26:52 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 3:

You never saw the commercials? They have the bunny, the white bunny sitting there, and he's going cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck.

00:26:56 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you know that commercial. I probably do, but honestly, I just know that they're right up on the front counter at Target. You can buy them right there.

00:27:04 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 1:

Do you get the cream-filled ones, or do you get the caramel? Because caramel is better.

00:27:08 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 5:

I like to, actually, to be honest with you, Megan, this is going to show off a little too much of myself right now. I like to put both in my mouth at the same time and enjoy them both.

00:27:15 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 2:

I like just the chocolate eggs with, like, the candy coating. Oh. No. I am obsessed with those. Who are you? The mini eggs. Peeps and candy corn. Candy coated mini eggs. Oh, my God. All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:27:49 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 5:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning, your home of the phone scams. Aubrey is getting married this weekend and gave her groom-to-be one job. He had to plan the honeymoon travel. Now she wants us to call and tell him it's all messed up. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:28:06 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 4:

Yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-yee-ye Marsha. Right, and I do apologize you have to hear from me, but Marsha's no longer with our company, so I'm going over all her accounts, and that's where I just realized this horrible error, and you're getting married this weekend, is that right? Yes. Good. Oh, great. Congratulations. And Aubrey's the bride? How's she doing? You guys nervous?

00:28:56 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 6:

What's going on with my travel arrangements?

00:28:58 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I don't know why Marsha did this. I'm looking at this and realizing there's no direct flights. I think she she had you a connection here i can't find it but now i've got it got you going detroit to new york and then you're going to connect down and we'll get you to jamaica like within eight or nine hours there there shouldn't be any connection right well that's the problem yeah we just because we're booking your flight so late we can't get any direct flights so but we're not we're not

00:29:27 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 6:

booking the flight late i booked this six months ago yeah you didn't though that's why i was saying

00:29:33 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if you heard me about Marsha. She messed this up. She no longer works with the company, but she never actually booked.

00:29:40 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 6:

I shouldn't be held responsible for that. I took care of my end six months ago. You took my money six months ago.

00:29:45 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she did. And I do apologize. When you booked the whole vacation through us, the one thing she didn't do was book your flights. And that's why I'm trying to resolve that now. So I got you Detroit to New York, New York to Raleigh, and then just a quick stop in Nashville. And then, boom, you're off to Jamaica.

00:30:00 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 3:

No, that's two connections.

00:30:02 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, to get you there same day.

00:30:04 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

You have absolutely nothing.

00:30:06 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, if you don't like Nashville, how about I got this one? It's Detroit to Jamaica through Seattle. That's farther. I'm here to solve your problems. How about we do this? You're going Detroit to Atlanta and then a jump to Dallas where you get on a plane to the islands. I need it to be a direct flight. Right, but it's less than two weeks notice now. It's just not possible to get a direct flight. I'm not responsible for that. I told you, Marcia doesn't work here anymore. We caught her embezzling. So you can understand we got problems, too. Okay, here's the fix. How about this one? Detroit the rally over to Denver, or we can have you stay the night and rally. Then you don't have an extra connection. You just go Detroit the rally, spend the night, leave in the morning for Jamaica. How is that a fix? That's the worst one yet. That's an overnight. Well, yeah, but then this is the great thing. You guys don't have as many connections. And then you leave at 8.30, and Aubrey would leave at noon. You're both at the bar by happy hour.

00:31:03 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 3:

Dude, you took my money. You didn't work out my flight. This is not on me. I will sue you if this doesn't get me better.

00:31:11 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, I got you down to a three-city stop, and you're not happy with that. I don't care if you have to book a private plane.

00:31:17 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

We had better be on that island the day that we were supposed to be there.

00:31:24 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 2:

You want to hear about our cruises? No. Howie, I need you to calm down. Howard. Howard, I respect you, and that's why I have one final offer for you. How about I tell you that you've just been the victim of a Mojo in the Morning phone scam, and you're on the radio with us right now? Oh, s**t. I can't believe I saw for that. Aubrey told us all you had to do was plan the honeymoon, so we had to mess with you.

00:31:52 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, it'd be fair for her to be a little scared, I guess. Should she be nervous?

00:31:57 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 2:

Did you do a good job planning? I mean, good. I'm going to go check now.

00:32:04 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55. Yo, 5 at 6.55. Yo, now.

00:32:16 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 1:

All right, time now for the 5 at 6.55. Yesterday was exciting. Trav is back with us this morning. Great game yesterday, Trav. Nice work, my friend. I'm high-fiving you through the speakers. Thank you. Your challenger today is Anna. Hi, Anna. Hi, good morning. Good morning. Nice to have you on. What's going on?

00:32:36 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, nothing. Just taking my son and his girlfriend to school.

00:32:38 - 00:32:39 | Unknown:

Oh, wow. Hello.

00:32:40 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 1:

What are they, in high school?

00:32:42 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, high school.

00:32:43 - 00:32:43 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:32:44 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 3:

I know. Sophomore and a junior.

00:32:46 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 1:

Do they spend the night at your house, or do you just go pick?

00:32:49 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:32:49 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

00:32:50 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm going to pick his girlfriend up right now.

00:32:52 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I was going to say, you're like, man, you're like the coolest mom ever. You allow that to happen. Yeah, no. That ain't going on in your house, right?

00:33:00 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 3:

She's like, yeah, no. No.

00:33:02 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 1:

All right, say hello to Trav.

00:33:05 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:33:06 - 00:33:06 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:33:07 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to lock up Trav in a soundproof area, and we're going to start this contest here. Good luck to both of you guys, the five at 655. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Anna, question number one. Selena Gomez and this former member of One Direction sparked dating rumors after having dinner together in New York City. Oh, Zayn Malek. Question number two. Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend announced that they're expecting their first child together. Which house was Daniel Radcliffe's character Harry Potter in in the Harry Potter movies?

00:33:46 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Gryffindor.

00:33:47 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 1:

Question number three, Adele announced that she's extending her Vegas residency. Finish the lyric to this Adele song. Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best for you. Question number four, Zach Shellcross proposed on last night's season finale of The Bachelor. On which network does The Bachelor air?

00:34:20 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 3:

ABC.

00:34:21 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 1:

And question number five, Backstreet Boy, A.J. McLean, and his wife announced that they're separating. Name two other members of The Backstreet Boys.

00:34:35 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 3:

Nick, Carter, and...

00:34:38 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

You can do first names if you want.

00:34:41 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:34:42 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. So, Nick, and who else? We're going to have to pass on that one. All right, let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. How do you think you did, Anna?

00:34:56 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Maybe like three.

00:34:58 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 1:

I actually got four out of five. Yeah, not bad. Yeah, would have had a perfect score if we got that last one right. Trav, you ready? Yep. Question number one. Selena Gomez and this former member of One Direction sparked dating rumors after having dinner together in New York City. Zane Mallett. Correct. Scores one to one. Question number two. Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend announced that they're expecting their first child together. Which house was Daniel Radcliffe's character Harry Potter in in the Harry Potter movies? Gryffindor? Yes. Two to two. Question number three. Adele announced that she is extending her Vegas residency. Finish the lyric to this Adele song. Never mind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but... Sebastian, for you. Correct. Three to three. Question number four. He's going to have to miss these next two questions to make you the winner, Anna, so he's got to get both these wrong. Question number four. Zach Shellcross proposed on last night's season finale of The Bachelor. On which network does The Bachelor air? ABC. ABC, he says. By the way, are you, like, outside, like, sticking your head out the window, or what is that? No, I'm in my house. I don't know. I think this is that funky phone line from yesterday. Is it? Is it? Okay, we may have to never use this phone line again. It sounded like, honestly, I thought he was in traffic right now doing the 5 at 655. I was a little worried about you. And question number five for a perfect score. Backstreet Boy, A.J. McLean and his wife announced that they are separating. Name two other members of the Backstreet Boys. Nick Carter and Howie. And Howie. We'll just accept that. There you go. Congratulations. Final score, 5-4. Nice job. All I do is win, win, win, no matter what. It's our daily. Mark, can you reset the phone lines call about to happen here in a second? Congratulations to you, Trav. You got your sixth win in a row. Anna? Oh, three Backstreet Boys. I was an NCAA fan. I know. But you know what? He got them all right, so I guess it didn't matter. You guys would have tied. We're going to set you up with tickets to go see the advanced screening of Air happening in Detroit at the Imagine Royal Oak. That's the movie based on the Michael Jordan Air Jordans. And we'll set you up with that. So hang on the phone for just one second. Tell your son and your son's girlfriend to have a good day at school. And you have a great day, too. Thank you. All right. It's Mojo in the mornings. Five at 6.55. Five, five, five, five. mojo the morning show good to have you guys here mojo spike shannon megan mike kp and lydia good

00:37:58 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 1:

to uh have you listening to us whether it's live or on our podcasts if you don't already subscribe to you can go and uh search mojo in the morning wherever you get podcasts hopefully see i heard radio app okay so in just a second here i'll tell you who it was but i want you to tell us Who saw you naked? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or you can text 95500. First off, how is it that these Amazon delivery people keep showing up in the middle of the night? I don't know. It blows me away. It's mind-boggling whenever they do this because we wake up so early in the morning, and getting ready early in the morning sometimes requires a little pre-preparation before you go to bed at night. And I am never good at doing that, especially going to bed late. So our bedroom is like on the other side of the house compared to where our laundry room is. And I was getting ready this morning and I didn't have any underwear in my underwear drawer. And all I can remember in my head was my wife saying, can you please put your laundry away? And I'm like, I didn't put my laundry away. Crap, she was right. I should have done it. So I had to run across the house. You don't know if you don't want to hear about this. Naked. Me. Naked. Me and a big old fat belly and a little ween. Naked. Naked. Yes. Do you actually run? Like you run. You're just not walking. You're running to get there. Oh, I run because my fear is that my son will wake up to go to the bathroom or something and he'll forever be traumatized by seeing his dad. So picture this, my over 200-pound naked ass running to the laundry room, and to give you an idea of this, we have a front door that I have no idea why we decided to do it this way. Chelsea thought it looked nice. That is glass. It's a glass front door. So if you come to my front door, I can't even hide from you.

00:40:11 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, that's the real travesty in this story.

00:40:14 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. So just as I'm getting to the front door and I'm running across, I see a flash of light happen outside. And I turn and look, and it was just at the moment that the Amazon delivery driver was taking a picture of the package he'd just put on our front door. He got a picture of a package. He got a picture of a package. Yeah, he maybe didn't get a picture of that package. You have a little penis. It might not have been showing.

00:40:45 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 2:

You need to go on your Amazon account.

00:40:48 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

And what, see the...

00:40:50 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 2:

So only sometimes, though. Sometimes when they take a photo, I can see the photo that they took. Other times, it just kind of depends.

00:40:58 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 1:

All right. I'm going to do that because I did go on my ring camera because I wanted to see if there was maybe a reflection or anything like that.

00:41:05 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 6:

Right.

00:41:06 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 1:

But I actually gave you guys a picture of the driver and the ring camera of him taking the picture at the front door. But it startled me. And somebody needs to explain this to me. Why is it that when we're naked and somebody walks in on us, we don't immediately cover ourselves up? We turn to look towards them. Yes. Have you ever noticed that? Yes. So at that moment, I'm sideways up. I see the light flash, and I go, blah! Like, it was kind of like, ta-da! Yeah. Showing it off to the guy. Yeah, right. Oh, my God. It was so bad. It was, and I will say this, I would have rather traumatized my teenage son than traumatized this poor Amazon delivery guy.

00:41:47 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 2:

Chels is not going to get any of her packages anymore. Guy's like, this house is black bald. They're going to leave him at the curb

00:41:57 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 1:

At the end of the driveway By the way, I think that I think I could have been written up for something like that I don't know

00:42:03 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 2:

You're in your own house It's deliver at your own risk

00:42:07 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 1:

It's so tough We've talked numerous times about these Amazon guys That they come really late at night And they scare the crap out of you If you've ever gotten your crap scared out of you You'll have to call and tell us about that too But who saw you naked? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Devin, who saw you naked?

00:42:29 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 4:

It wasn't me. It was my wife. So during the beginning of the pandemic, she works in a prison. So she'd get home from work and, you know, take her clothes off because we didn't want to bring any germs into the house. And so she was, she was, she's going to kill me. She was butt naked, running through the house, and my parents had come over, and she made eye contact with my mom through the window and had to, like, scurry through the house.

00:43:01 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Like a military soldier, you know? Yeah, I've had that.

00:43:08 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and then she had to answer the door and look my parents in the eyes, like, yeah, I know you saw me.

00:43:14 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Did your parents look her back in the eyes, or were they kind of looking down?

00:43:19 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 4:

Different eyes.

00:43:20 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:21 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 4:

It was all good. We joke about it now.

00:43:23 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Hey, Callie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:43:27 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So this is my husband. We have a family Shutterfly account where we upload photos to, and they store, and we make books. Well, I also have an individual one. Well, I didn't realize I was sending on my family account, and my husband, her first house laundry was in the living room. He was doing laundry naked. And I thought his butt looked cute, so I took a photo of him. Not realizing that it uploads to my family Shutterfly account. My dad has access to my mom, my sister. Oh, wait, that's really bad. That's really, because they could go back and look again and again. Yes, we didn't know until Family Pete tonight when my dad said something about it. No. You guys are so aware of my account you're signed in under.

00:44:07 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 2:

Your family dropped the ball. You should have made Christmas T-shirts with his photo on him. Yes, or put it on his birthday cake. Yes.

00:44:14 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 1:

That is so funny. It all happens on family pizza night. It does.

00:44:19 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 5:

Secrets come out.

00:44:21 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank God it was... Anybody want sausage on this? What's going on, Jen?

00:44:27 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. How you doing this morning?

00:44:29 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good. So we're talking about who walked in on you naked or who saw you naked.

00:44:35 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, I was upstairs in my home, in the privacy of my home, changing. and I turn around to see my 80 plus year old neighbor just sitting there with his mouth open and I'm like what the heck are you doing and he thought I was being robbed because apparently I

00:44:53 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 1:

was in a hurry and left the front door open oh my gosh so you're you're your neighbor in all my

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Your neighbor saw it.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 4:

Wait, all the bits and pieces?

00:45:02 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 2:

Every bit and piece.

00:45:04 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. So, question. Does he all of a sudden now come over all the time just to visit and say hi?

00:45:11 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

I moved, so I hope not. Yeah. But, yeah, I'm no longer there.

00:45:15 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Brittany? Hi.

00:45:18 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going?

00:45:19 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 4:

It's going good. What's going on? Who saw you naked?

00:45:23 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't know exactly how many people, but maybe quite a few. I was selling my TV on Monday and I was going to take pictures of it and post it on Facebook before I went to bed and I completely forgot so I jumped up the next morning went out, took some really nice shots of my TV posted them on Facebook Marketplace and got a response like right away this really over eager hi I really like your TV and And I said, thanks, you know, and I was, he said, I wanted to let you know that you're completely naked in your reflection. Oh, no. Oh, my God, no.

00:46:09 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 1:

All right. I sell a TV. I mean, oh, that's bad. When will my reflection show exactly who I am on the other side? That was so good.

00:46:19 - 00:46:21 | Unknown:

I got it. I got it. I got it.

00:46:22 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 3:

I sold that TV really fast, though.

00:46:25 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 2:

844-665-6548 This is Mojo in the Morning

00:46:36 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show I want to throw out a quick little if you would like to hang out with me and help do a great thing. I'm going to be out on 420 and I'm going to be with the police on that day. So it's kind of a weird thing. I don't know why we scheduled this on 420 because all of my friends that like to, uh, to party and partake, they still might feel a little awkward, even though it is legal to, uh, to partake if you want to, uh, in Michigan, But I'm going to be raising money for Sheriff's Pal, our good friends from the Oakland County Sheriff's Department, and Sheriff Bouchard. They started up the Pal League, the Police Athletic League, to help the kids in Pontiac, Michigan, have an ability to be able to play Little League baseball, football, volleyball, all kinds of stuff. The Pal League does such a great job. And we're going to be doing a golf outing, and the golf outing is not for golfers. I don't want people that are really, really serious. I want people that are just wanting to have fun. So if you're a good golfer and you're willing to have fun, you can join up for this. Go sign up at SheriffPal.com on 420. We're taking over Topgolf in Auburn Hills. It's going to be such a great time. And the money that is raised, so you coming and participating in this, and then any money from our raffles that we got, which, by the way, we got some great stuff. I mean, here's the deal. Whenever Sheriff Bouchard pulls anybody over in Oakland County and if they're a celebrity like an athlete or something, he says, sign this. I'm going to sell it and make money off of it. For a good cause. And I'll let you out. No, he doesn't do that stuff. I told him, I said, we were talking about how do we get signed autographed stuff. I said, you know what we do? Sheriff, we wait outside the homes of all the Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers, players, you know. Any, you know, buddy that's a celebrity here in town, you know, Bob, is that Bob Seger? Pull him over. You know, sign this guitar for us. But we're raising money to help these kids out. I do want to let you guys know, I have been volunteering with Sheriff Powell for a long time. And when you talk to these kids who are able to play because the fields that they play on got, you know, refurbished by the sheriff's department that the coaches are you know sheriff deputies um or you know friends of the sheriffs it's so cool they they did not have the ability to do this they had to go to other communities to go play little league if you were a pontiac kid and so now they have it it's really competitive and honestly we've gotten some great athletes come out of that that

00:49:33 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 4:

town so sheriff pal please sign up for it top golf uh on uh 420 um so it's gonna be fun All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Shannon and her random bruises.

00:49:46 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what's going on. It's the weirdest thing. I have bruises all over my body right now, and I cannot, for the life of me, figure out where the majority of them came from. And here's where it gets.

00:50:00 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 6:

a little dicey. I was changing in front of Wes the day before yesterday. And he noticed a bunch of the bruises on my arms specifically. And he's questioning me about where these bruises came from. And I felt like I had to like, over explain myself. And truly, again, I don't know where they came from. Because which made you they look suspicious. And then it made me look more suspicious but I my mom has this too and I can remember it from growing up and she still has it now that she you know she would just bruise so easily and I always thought oh I hope I don't get that well now I'm getting it and like if you just touch me or I bump into something I get I get a bruise um but yeah so it's uh it's been really it's been really fun explaining that to my

00:50:49 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 3:

fiance. When he was asking you this, he wasn't asking you out of concern. Well, he said. He was asking you, thinking, either one of a couple of things. Oh, there was no concern. Either the bruises were coming from some activity that you were doing, or I don't know, maybe...

00:51:03 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 6:

And how suspicious does it sound that I'm like, I don't know. And he's like, Shan, they're all up and down the back of your arms. I'm like, I truly don't know how I got those. And then I'm thinking, I pick up Smith sometimes, and he's like a beast right now, so maybe he... Like, that is doing it to me? I don't know.

00:51:19 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 4:

Or you're a superhero fighting crime at night.

00:51:22 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I mean, whatever.

00:51:24 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 3:

I woke up the other day from a nap on the couch with a scratch on the side of my face. And it was from the zipper from the little pillow that I lay on. It's one of those throw pillows that we have on the couch. And Chelsea's like, where did that scratch come from? I'm like, the pillow? You know, I don't know. But it looked like a scratch. And honestly, if you looked at it, you could see and think, oh, some, you know, some long-nailed lady is like, you know, giving me a little, hmm.

00:51:54 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Right.

00:51:54 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 3:

I always worry with bruises that people are going to think that I'm doing something, you know, some illegal narcotic I'm shooting up or something like that.

00:52:02 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, obviously, it's cold now, so it's not like I'm wearing a tank top or a short-sleeved shirt where, you know, people would probably look at me funny thinking that something's off, you know?

00:52:13 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Donnie, did you go to, I don't know, WebMD and get us an answer on Shannon's bruises?

00:52:20 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 5:

Heck no, but let me tell you about mine. Oh, okay. Good morning. Good morning.

00:52:24 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 3:

Tell us about your bruises day here on the Mojo on the Morning Show.

00:52:26 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 5:

So I feel so bad for my mom because I do bruise like a peach, just like Ross on Friends, whatever. My mom used to get like CPS called on her because I would just come to school with bruises. And my mother did not beat me. She never laid a hand on me, but I, even now I have no idea where any of my bruises come from.

00:52:49 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 3:

Wow. You know, it's some people I think, you know, might have like, I don't know, like when I was taking like blood thinners after my surgery, some, it might be thin blood or something. I don't know.

00:52:58 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I do have low iron. I do take iron anyway, but still, I don't know. It's the evil spirits. I don't know.

00:53:06 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever worry whenever you bring up a topic like this Because this has happened to all of us And you look up at the text thing And people are like Go see your doctor immediately Go to ER It helped me Thank you for the concern But then it scares you the rest of the show We still have time on the show left Where you're sitting there looking it up Oh my god they must know something

00:53:30 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 4:

It helped me with the concussion But when I hear Shannon's story I'm just like Well that's called having kids You always end up with a million mysterious bruises, right?

00:53:38 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but nothing scares you more than WebMD. Like, WebMD will tell you it's way worse than our listeners as well.

00:53:42 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's cancer. It doesn't matter what your ailment is. It's cancer. It's cancer. Oh, you cut your finger? It's cancer.

00:53:48 - 00:53:48 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:53:48 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny is whenever we do, like, War of the Roses and stuff like that, I don't think we've ever had a War of the Roses where it's like, I see random bruises. We have had the marks on his penis. Remember that? What? We had the War of the Roses where it was like.

00:54:04 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's called an STD.

00:54:07 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 3:

No, he had like scratches on his penis. It wasn't an STD. Remember that one? Scratches? Actually, don't. Yeah. Like it looked like bite marks or something. I don't know. That might be a telltale sign of cheating. Yeah, it might be right there. We don't even make a phone call. Angela, what's going on?

00:54:27 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 5:

Sandra has a dose. If her lights are blowing, her sink's filling up. She's got bruises everywhere.

00:54:32 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you've been listening since the start of the show. Now, let me tell you how well that will go over with Wes. I think it's a ghost giving me bruises. He's not going to think anything fishy is going on at all. I didn't say it didn't sound fishy.

00:54:46 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call.

00:54:49 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 2:

Spike does another Sistler survey at 7.50. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:54:58 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Get you caught up on what's trending right now.

00:55:00 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, according to the man who is suing actress Gwyneth Paltrow, she was flying down the ski slope in Park City, Utah and out of control when she slammed into the back of him. This was in the courtroom yesterday.

00:55:14 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

I just remember everything was great. And then I heard something I've never heard at a ski resort. And that was a blood curdling scream. Just I can't do it. It was. What? It was like somebody was out of control and going to hit a tree and was going to die. And then, boom, that's what I had until I was hit.

00:55:41 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 4:

That's Dr. Terry Sanderson as he testified. Gwyneth was not buying this story. She was just sitting there shaking her head. She insists he got it backwards. He is the one that crashed into her.

00:55:51 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

You know, I got hit in my back so hard. I'm right at my shoulder blades. and it felt like and was perfectly centered and the fists and the poles were right there at the bottom of my shoulder blades. Serious, serious smack. Never been hit that hard and I'm flying. I'm absolutely flying. All I saw was a whole lot of snow. Gwen's ski instructor Eric

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 4:

Christensen also took the stand and walked Durst through an animated video that was created to show

00:56:23 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 1:

his point of view what he saw during the crash male skier took her out from behind i didn't see it but heard her scream as she went down i skied directly to her the man was behind her uh both were in discomfort during lunch uh she uh talked of being stiff and sore yeah that uh

00:56:47 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 6:

everybody will be back in the courtroom today not as interesting as that johnny depp amber

00:56:52 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 5:

heard trial. No, no, but let me tell you, I don't care whose fault this is. I don't even care who wins. It's just showing how unrelatable Gwyneth Paltrow is, because at one point the attorney's was like, did this ruin your very expensive vacation? And she said, well, I did lose a half day of skiing so I could go in and get a massage.

00:57:11 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 6:

Oh my God.

00:57:12 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 4:

Did you see she's also staying in like a $28,000 a week maybe home that's like a couple of miles away from where this trial is taking place. I mean, it's insane.

00:57:21 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 6:

She's spending more money than if she just paid the guy the $300,000 that he wants.

00:57:27 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. What do you think is truly at fault here? Do you think this is a cash grab for him, or do you think she was being unobservant?

00:57:33 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 6:

I thought it might have been a cash grab, and then I started looking at this guy, thinking to myself, well, he's a retired doctor. He probably did pretty well. He's able to pay. He could afford to be there. Yeah, he could afford to be there. This ain't a cash grab. This guy's legit. He's probably, yeah.

00:57:48 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 5:

The other thing is, apparently this lawsuit has been going on since 2016, and she's thrown everything at him to try to get him just to drop the case with lawyer's fees. So if he could afford it for the past eight years.

00:57:59 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and he's not going to make any money. $300,000, he's going to be giving it right to his attorney.

00:58:03 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but dang, her hair looks real good.

00:58:05 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 6:

It looks real good. Girl.

00:58:07 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 4:

It does. I like that. Tom Brady is back in the dating game hearing he's dating around right now. He's doing a little shopping. And I haven't heard any names yet, but somebody just reminded me that before he got involved with Bridget Moynihan and Giselle, he was linked to American Pie and Sharknado star Tara Reid. You remember that? Wow. And former Playboy Playmate. Former Playboy Playmate. There we go. Layla Roberts.

00:58:33 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 6:

I don't even know her.

00:58:34 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 4:

Do I Google her or like? Go for it.

00:58:36 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Sure.

00:58:37 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Spoiler alert. bachelor nation in case you haven't yet watched last night season finale of the bachelor i'm about to spoil it for you zach proposed to katie play bachelor no no no play bachelor

00:58:52 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 2:

in life to you. You've never...

00:58:57 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 5:

You truly are.

00:59:07 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 2:

My world. And you're my best friend. I love you, Katie Lane.

00:59:13 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 4:

First bachelor to get down on a knee since Peter Weber proposed to Hannah Ann during the

00:59:18 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 6:

2020 season.

00:59:20 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 5:

You're my best friend. I spent two weeks with you in front of a camera for about three hours and you're my best friend.

00:59:26 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so bad. And I'll tell you next hour how I ruined it for my girlfriend and she's really

00:59:32 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

mad at me right now. Even though the movie doesn't come out until next weekend, I think, some are criticizing the Super Mario Brothers movie because they don't think that Chris Pratt, who voices Mario, sounds enough like the voice they remember from the video game back in the day.

00:59:48 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 6:

Mushroom Kingdom, here we come.

00:59:51 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 4:

So Chris Pratt is responding to all of his haters.

00:59:55 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 6:

This is a passionate fan base, and it makes sense. This is the soundtrack to your youth.

01:00:00 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 1:

And you don't want someone to come along and cynically kind of destroy it as a cash grab with the movie. As I did. I fully understand that. There are so many hearts and souls and minds dedicated to making sure that didn't happen. The movie really honors the video game. It honors the world of Mario.

01:00:19 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 2:

And did you know?

01:00:21 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 5:

Mike, do you agree or disagree?

01:00:23 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 6:

I think it's a terrible. I know it sounds gimmicky to do the voice, but that's the voice of Mario.

01:00:29 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 2:

Did you know that Netflix has a secret menu containing hundreds upon hundreds of hidden titles that you're not going to see when you go to that main screen on your account? Just hearing about this, this secret menu can be accessed using codes associated with specific genres. Like if you're looking for irreverent TV comedies or 90-minute movies, for example. There are two ways to access these so-called secret collections. You could do it from your desktop computer, okay, by going to netflix.com slash browse slash genre and then adding a unique code. If you're using your Netflix on your TV, you can simply type the code into the search bar. Is there anything good on that? It doesn't work on phones. I don't know. I haven't tried this yet, but the codes are numbers used to represent categories that are tucked into this Netflix library. Why do they keep it secret? I don't know. And you've got to do some internet detective work to get the codes, but they're there. They're just not made easily available to us users.

01:01:25 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 5:

As long as the movie Roadhouse is there, because I watch Roadhouse no matter where I am.

01:01:29 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 4:

The movies will come up in a search, but if you just want to browse, they typically only give you categories of the popular stuff. They try and make it easy to find the algorithms of what people are looking at. But like Shannon said, you really want to dig deep, they're in there.

01:01:41 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 5:

I bet you Megan has already known that. You've already dug deep and you're in there.

01:01:45 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 4:

There's a code for Megan. You actually just type in her name, and it brings up seven-hour documentaries that work with weed.

01:01:52 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page at NojoInTheMorning.com.

01:01:58 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:02:04 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 5:

It's the Mojo in the Morning show. And last night we all hung out together going to a Pistons game. And Megan learned firsthand what Shannon learns every single morning when she does the Dirty on the 30. Spike doesn't pay attention.

01:02:20 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. Spike is so incredibly rude I just Here's the thing I was so excited last night We were all walking back to our car And to give Spike credit He was being a nice gentleman Walking all the ladies including Mike Back to our cars last night You're welcome Mike I had to turn you into the bus too So we were all walking back And we parked kind of far from LCA And as we're going We're passing bars We're passing businesses But we pass a specific bar And I have very, fond is not the right word to use, but intense memories of being absolutely obliterated in this bar. And if you follow me on Instagram, you might remember the weird neon signs that I posted all over my Insta stories while I was drunk in this business. Because they have very interesting ones hanging up on the wall. I'm telling the story to KP, Lydia, Mike, and what I assumed was Spike and saying, And I remember being so drugged but thinking that these neon junk signs were, like, so funny and yada, yada, yada. And I blew out my back. Hey, now.

01:03:31 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 6:

You would have paid attention then.

01:03:35 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 3:

Not the right choice of words, but I hurt my back, like, trying to twerk on the dance floor. And I'm sharing all these fun stories. And that's it. I stop my story and continue walking. And within a beat, Spike turns around and goes, hey, Megan, have you ever been to that bar? I feel like it's a place that you would really enjoy going to. That's so sweet. And you weren't joking, right?

01:03:59 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 4:

No, I was not joking.

01:04:01 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and it wasn't like three minutes later where there was time for other conversation to happen. It was like the conversation had stopped and then Spike jumped in. So have you heard this bar, Megan? I really think you would like it. Like, I really think you would enjoy it. You know what I know it was?

01:04:16 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

I know he wanted to tell me that and just was like, just wait for her to stop talking and that's your moment to shine. Like, just not going to pay attention.

01:04:22 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I did not even hear you talking. First of all, this is very rude of you. After I was nice enough to let you buy me beer last night that you would come at me like this. But there were a lot of conversations going on in that three, four block walk. There was chaos and fun and silliness. And we were all talking back and forth. And Mike was talking about topics in the show. And Lydia was talking. And everybody was sharing stories So there wasn't just one It wasn't like Megan has the floor now And she's the only one talking We were in a side conversation I totally didn't even hear you talking about the bar So I was talking to somebody else

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

So it was not as bad as when

01:05:00 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Shannon reports a story. No, it's the best. It will happen, like, today, okay? I will get an email from Spike later tonight that says it's like a link to a story about Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik dating. And I'll be like, yeah. And the title will be Good Dirty Story for Tomorrow. Yeah, I've actually been doing that since Monday.

01:05:21 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, Shannon, my favorite, though, is when he verbally will say to you almost minutes right afterwards, and we'll say, Hey you know what we got to talk about today We got to talk about this And you just put your middle finger up and flip them off You just kind of like look right over at them

01:05:36 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 3:

The thanks I get for being helpful Now my new move with Shannon is Because I realized There's a lot going on in here I'm also running in and out of the room I'm podcasting I was just creating a dumb TikTok from last night's Pistons game So like Sometimes I'm not hearing Shannon's story Because there's something else going on So now my new move is If I see something, oh, this would be good for Shannon. I pause and I go, did she do this yet? And then I say to Shannon, Shannon, Lewis Capaldi. And I wait for her response. And if she says, right, isn't that crazy? Then I know she did it already. But if she says, what about it? I go, oh, there's a great story. Smart.

01:06:18 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 5:

Well, you said that there were lots of conversations going on. Who were you talking to at that time?

01:06:23 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't remember that exact time because I was having a normal human conversation. I was telling. There was a time that Mike and I were talking about topics and he was talking about some things for the morning show that he wanted to improve.

01:06:35 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 5:

Mike, did you hear me talk about that bar?

01:06:37 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 3:

I did hear that. Perfect. Okay, continue. I have ADD and can listen to like eight conversations at once. I was telling Lydia how I was on the roof of this building that we were walking past.

01:06:48 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 5:

Okay, Lydia, did you hear my story about the bar?

01:06:50 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it was KP I was talking to.

01:06:51 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, KP, did you hear my story about the bar?

01:06:55 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yes, she's not. Yes.

01:06:57 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm coming. Yeah. Yes, I heard your story about the bar. There you go. I was talking to you, and I saw Spike walking in front of us, and I don't think you were talking to anyone, Spike.

01:07:09 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Not that I recall. I was texting my daughter as a very serious family issue. By the way, Megan, you know what you just experienced?

01:07:19 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 2:

You just experienced everything that a wife experiences. You now know what it's like to get married.

01:07:26 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 5:

I still don't want to do it, you guys. I know. I'm really reinforcing it.

01:07:30 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Can I throw this out there? So we went to the game. We hung out. And then at halftime, we went and decided that we were going to go get some food, or just before halftime, because we met up with some listeners. What was the one listener's name that we ended up getting? Sarah. Sarah. She was awesome. We got her up on our social media.

01:07:45 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 1:

And a shout out to listener Shannon, too. She was really sweet in her crew.

01:07:48 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 2:

So when we left and we walked out just at the moment that we did, the Pistons and Kevin, the in-studio announcer for the Pistons, had them post on the Little Caesars Arena scoreboard a happy birthday to KP, our producer, and put up their KP on air. And it was literally at, ready for this? It was at halftime with eight minutes left in halftime. It flashed up on the screen and we didn't see it.

01:08:20 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Where were we at that time?

01:08:22 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 2:

We were hanging out, I think, having some drinks or food or something like that. We were getting food. So it's interesting because it was so wild. And he sent it and he said, I couldn't get a great picture from where I was standing at the time, but I wanted to make sure that we showed KP some birthday love, looked up in the stands and saw you guys were gone at that particular time. You wouldn't have

01:08:47 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 4:

seen my reaction anyway, because the way we were sitting, it was literally like Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. I was cut off of the Jumbotron. I was literally, literally cut off from the Jumbotron, and I don't know why we weren't together.

01:09:01 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

But you would have seen the actual sign up there. That was sweet that they did that. That was really nice.

01:09:05 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 4:

That was so nice, Kevin. That was so thoughtful.

01:09:08 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 2:

Can I say this, though, that is interesting? It reminds me of the people that will try to do something and show somebody a sign or whatever, and the people don't even notice. I still remember when Chelsea was pregnant with my middle son, Jacob, and she came into the studio making Joey wear a shirt that said, I'm the big brother. And it took me 10 minutes before I even realized it. But I wonder if there are any people that have ever had that happen to them where somebody was giving them a sign or something or somebody actually put something up or decorated the front of the house or decorated your house for somebody's birthday.

01:09:44 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 1:

Totally went over your head.

01:09:46 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 2:

Didn't even notice it. Walked out the garage instead of walking out the front door and didn't get a chance to see it. Do you know those swans that people put in the front yards of families' homes and stuff like that?

01:09:56 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

And they put clothes on them? What are you talking about? The geese.

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 6:

Whatever it is, for birthdays, the pink flamingos, I think. I don't know.

01:10:03 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 4:

How'd you go?

01:10:04 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 6:

What? I don't know. I don't even know. I don't know my animals. But people will put those on their front yards, in their front lawns, and there was a neighbor of ours that had them all over their front yard because they were celebrating their 50th birthday, and there were like 50 of them in their front yard. She drove to work in the morning when it was dark, and he didn't see any of them. Wow. Yeah, and everybody was calling her up going, hey, did you notice anything? She goes, no. She had no clue. She finally saw it when she came back home.

01:10:32 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, this reminds me. You're talking about people not seeing things. Last night, the Pistons game, they put KP's name up on the scoreboard, and we weren't there to see it.

01:10:44 - 01:10:44 | Unknown:

Really?

01:10:44 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. Yeah.

01:10:47 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 5:

Wow. So funny.

01:10:49 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 6:

It's going to be a good day.

01:10:52 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 3:

It's time for an official government survey. It's Mojo in the Morning's Sinceless Survey.

01:10:59 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. It's Bob Dabalina-Con from the U.S. Senseless Bureau, and I just have three questions in the survey. In an effort to encourage our youth, would you agree that kids can be anything they want when they grow up as long as it's not a DJ?

01:11:15 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 1:

I would just encourage them to stay in school and graduate.

01:11:21 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 5:

Did your last date night end with a bang?

01:11:23 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm married. Oh, perfect. Every date night ends with a bang.

01:11:28 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 5:

If you're not supposed to abuse cough syrup, then why does it come with a little plastic shot glass?

01:11:32 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 1:

I believe if everyone measured their alcohol in the shot glass, we wouldn't have a problem.

01:11:38 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 5:

Is it still a walk of shame if you high-five a stranger?

01:11:42 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

It depends on your location.

01:11:44 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 5:

And when you buy a head of lettuce, do you ever wonder what they do with their bodies?

01:11:50 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 1:

No. I'm assuming it's in the ground.

01:11:53 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 5:

All right. And would you get a tattoo?

01:11:55 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:11:56 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 5:

How about a tat three?

01:11:58 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 1:

Negative.

01:11:58 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 5:

Would you take a free piano, no strings attached?

01:12:01 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 1:

No, I already have a baby grand.

01:12:03 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 5:

And when Jesus returns to Earth, do you think he will endorse the iPhone or the Android?

01:12:08 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 1:

Since I'm a Christian and I'm saved, I won't be here when he returns, and I think there are bigger issues than which he would endorse. I'm sure he'll endorse salvation.

01:12:16 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 5:

Salvation, I'm not familiar with that smartphone. Is that a Verizon phone?

01:12:19 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 1:

No, that's the grace of God.

01:12:22 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 5:

Amen.

01:12:22 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 1:

This is a lot longer than three questions.

01:12:25 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought we had such a good rapport going. It didn't sound like you were too busy.

01:12:30 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm just so happy to hear someone speaking English.

01:12:32 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 5:

Why do protein bars always have to look like feces?

01:12:37 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh. I like that.

01:12:43 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:12:44 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of true, though.

01:12:45 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 6:

Well, she sounds like she's, I don't know. I think if you kept her going just a little bit more, Spike, you probably would have gotten her to.

01:12:53 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 5:

I don't think I would have been able to keep her going.

01:12:55 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 6:

No, I don't think so.

01:12:56 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 4:

Laugh all you want. We'll get to you eventually. It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning.

01:13:04 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning. So this is the reason why a groom should never be allowed to write his own vows. This story is pretty funny. So it's trending right now on TikTok. A groom whose vows should have probably been a red flag to the wife or the wife-to-be that this is going to be a guy who's going to be a handful. Now, I'm going to play you the audio, but I also want you to know that it was the groom's mom that was doing the ceremony. She was the one marrying him and her future daughter-in-law. And you can hear her jump on, appalled by what he said.

01:13:47 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 2:

Anything you want to say to your future bride? I hope we have a lot of sex. A lot. only two things are required to keep me happy keep my belly full and my empty well you're amazing at half of it we really need to get you some cooking lessons even when my belly isn't full there is no one i could ever love more in this lifetime unless i actually get a chance to meet margot robbie since the beginning i was always told life gets even better when the kids fall asleep when you tell me to come to the bedroom nothing's better than the sound of and headboard slamming Michael being that I am his mom

01:14:35 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 5:

I will deal with him later he is grounded

01:14:37 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 6:

side eye the video has 18 million views right now and many comments where people are saying that that's a huge red flag according to the videographer the upsetting vow saga began even before the groom and the bride met each other at their makeshift altar uh that

01:15:00 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 2:

But he was having fun beforehand, which is that's where the first clip came up from there. But I would love to know, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, what was in the vows or what was said at the wedding? It could even be like a toast or something that completely floored everybody.

01:15:18 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 1:

Don't forget it's a mixed crowd. You got grandmas there. You got the pastor there. It's not a time for you and your buddies to make dirty jokes. It's kind of crazy that way, but it's a family event.

01:15:29 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 2:

Like, I always hear this story about where people will say, you know, all right, everybody who has a key to Bob's apartment, bring it up here right now. And then a bunch of girls come up there and do the thing. And I, you know, okay, cute, funny, whatever. But sometimes it doesn't go very well with the dad of the bride, you know?

01:15:46 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 7:

I went to my friend Kirsten's wedding. This was years ago. She had her wedding down in Florida where she is living. And during the best man speech, it was the groom's brother. I'm trying to remember how this all happened because it was so awkward. The groom's brother was very, very intoxicated. And those speeches make me so uncomfortable anyway. And he started talking about how the groom got arrested during the bachelor party. And my friend did not know that that had happened. It was so uncomfortable to watch her reaction and everybody else's reaction to his attempt at being funny. which was a true story but just like not the time or place to spill those details it was bad and you

01:16:29 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 2:

could tell he was just way over served eight four four six six five six five four eight eight four four mojo live hi connie hi good morning guys good morning what was said at the wedding that

01:16:42 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 5:

had everybody uh-oh so he said guys there's gonna be a lot of ups and downs in this marriage but Please keep them between the sheets. Yeah, that was good.

01:17:00 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

Who said that? Was that the pastor that said that, or who was it that said that?

01:17:03 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 5:

No, it was actually my, well, now ex-husband, but yeah.

01:17:07 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Wait, he was doing a toast?

01:17:09 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 5:

He was the best man.

01:17:10 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, that's funny. Oh, my God. I can see why he's the ex-husband now. Bob, how you doing?

01:17:17 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 3:

Good, good. Good morning, guys.

01:17:19 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. We're talking about what was said at the wedding, either in the vows or the toast at the reception that kind of had everybody looking side-eye.

01:17:30 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 3:

So I'm a DJ, and I DJ multiple weddings. And what I do is when they're sitting at the table at dinner and the maid of honor and the groomsmen are giving their speech, I have my own little speech. I have the bride put her hand on the groom's hand and look at him and tell him I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. And then I have the groom put his hand on top of hers and repeat the same thing. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. And then I look at him and tell him, well, this is going to be the last time that you ever have the last word or the upper hand.

01:18:06 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait, do people like that? Do they like that little act that you got going on there? DJ Bobby Bob?

01:18:13 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of laughs

01:18:15 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 2:

DJ Bobby Bob I actually was a wedding DJ for one wedding My buddy Robbie K That was his name on the radio He asked me to DJ a wedding for him Because he couldn't make it And my first song that I played for the couple After they did their first dance Was You Give Love a Bad Name from Bon Jovi It was the last wedding I ever did I had the dad come up to me of the bride And want to throw me out Now I wish I had the upper hand Little act thing going there But what's up Chrissy?

01:18:43 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, at my cousin's wedding, her maid of honor during her speech let everybody know that she was pregnant, even though she didn't let everybody know.

01:18:52 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We just had the am I the a-hole about something similar to that. That's crazy. About a proposal at a wedding. Yeah.

01:19:03 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:19:04 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't go over well. Thank you for the call. Colleen, hi.

01:19:08 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 6:

Hi. How are you doing? My brother's wedding. I'm doing good. How are you guys?

01:19:12 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 2:

Good. Go ahead. You've got a good story. You want to get right to it.

01:19:16 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 6:

So my brother's groomsman, actually his best man, made a speech, and he was talking about the bride's father. He goes, kind of shy, kind of creepy. And then he goes, and he was wasted, by the way. And then he said, and all you bridesmaids, you are all hot except for one of you, and you know who you are. Jeez. Oh, wait, that's really, really bad. Oh, man. And was his tire slashed in the parking lot? Well, all of us were looking at each other like, which one of us is it? Yeah.

01:19:49 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. I actually kind of, I would chuckle. I would feel bad, but then I would probably chuckle. That's classic. Where was his wedding? Because I always want to know what city. do these weddings take place in it was in sterling height oh my god good east side uh detroit what's up dana yes how you doing i'm doing good how are you fantastic you got a story for us i do

01:20:14 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 3:

so at my wedding my sister was my maid of honor and she doesn't like to speak in front of everybody and everybody kept telling her you have to give a speech you have to give a speech and they wouldn't leave her alone so she said fine you want a speech i'll give you a speech and she turned around and mooned everybody at my restaurant. No, she did not.

01:20:35 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 2:

Did the crowd go crazy?

01:20:39 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 3:

Yes, they all thought it was hilarious.

01:20:43 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Grandma and grandpa sitting there. You know, you forget that these weddings have the extended family that are there.

01:20:48 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Or sometimes like bosses. Yeah, exactly.

01:20:52 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she didn't care. Good stuff. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it. All right, welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us. Got a lot of stuff to get to this morning, so we will get to it fast. Another chance for you to go to Disney and ride the new Tron ride. We got that for you. That's happening in just a little bit. um spike ruined the end of the bachelor we'll talk about that um mike with the crying room and the most annoying person to ever sit by when you're eating at a restaurant at coney island i was at yesterday and do i have the right to say something to them i'll talk about that it's all happening within the next 30 minutes here on the mojo in the morning show i'll tell you what i'm gonna do i um real quick i just want to uh throw this out there uh we just got uh from our friend kid laroi who did the jingle ball in december he just sent a text message to our producer that said he wants to do some meet and greets for mojo in the morning listeners because he got a chance to do it at our jingle ball and wants to meet more of our listeners at emu That concert is tomorrow night So in like less than 10 minutes We're going to play a Kid Leroy song And then during that song Everybody who calls up during that song And gets on the Mojo in the Morning show Is going to get a meet and greet So we'll get a pair of passes and a meet and greet So I'll do that in a second And it works perfect because Most of Kid Leroy's songs are only two minutes long anyway And I don't know how many you gave I think you might have given us like, I don't know, 10 or so meet and greets. So we'll have that for you coming up here in just a little bit. So give us within 10 minutes, within 10 minutes, you can give us 10 minutes. You will have that opportunity to win. So Mojo in the Morning Show, Spike ruined the end. You're one of those guys? Are you the person that tells everybody the ending?

01:23:14 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

I usually get mad when people throw spoilers out there, and I was laughing because our office manager, Julie, was telling us somebody left a nasty message on the company voicemail because somebody ruined the ending of a movie on the air, but they didn't say what DJ or what radio station, so we don't know who to blame. And they were so angry, they yelled for 20 minutes, but didn't even say who it was that did it. So I always, you know, nudge everybody to give a spoiler warning. Some people take a little while to catch up on things, but this was different. I tolerate The Bachelor. It's my girlfriend's guilty pleasure. She loves watching The Bachelor. So on Monday nights and sometimes Tuesday nights, it's on in the house. Everybody has to be quiet. and i will just sit on the couch and work on my laptop and occasionally make smart ass comments and annoy her with my commentary and um i got so bored halfway through this season of the bachelor that i just googled who won the bachelor and i looked it up and found out pretty quickly there's a lot of sources and then i confirmed with shannon here in the dirty she told me i said is this who wins she said yep so i kind of knew two months ago maybe and i kept it quiet but um i got home from the pistons game last night and this was the the finale last night and she's been looking forward to this for the whole season and i was looking forward too because it would be over and i wouldn't have to watch the bachelor well i made a joke thinking they were down to the final three girls and i said oh my god how did this girl even make it this far and i did all that well i didn't realized there was only two left so I gave away the ending before it happened because it was very clear when I said about the one

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 3:

girl that she i can't believe she even made this far uh and i didn't realize well that means automatically the other girl is the bachelorette that gets chosen not all the time not all the

01:25:09 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 2:

time nope so but and you said you already knew so well i told her i knew or two months ago and i

01:25:17 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 3:

was doing a good job of keeping a secret i told her i wasn't gonna tell her she said i started making comments like three episodes ago where i'd perk up and be like is that the nurse and which one's that is that so she knew i was i only knew certain people because my comment was that when i found out who it was which women when woman was being chosen at the end i was surprised that she had a public instagram and it still only had 7 000 followers i was telling her like we've had like intern billy had more followers and we've had like people in in the office that aren't even on the air have more followers and i'm like i thought when this show kicked in that more people people

01:25:58 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 2:

either must not be engaged by her or the show maybe or the show's fate yeah maybe the show

01:26:03 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 4:

well i don't want to say the ending if people get it both of the final two has have like 100

01:26:09 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 3:

plus well now they do because when it got down to the final three last week everybody started

01:26:14 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

paying attention here's the thing to be honest with you with uh with all the spoiler alerts You're my best friend. Does anybody really care? Honestly.

01:26:23 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know what? I would be mad if you spoil the end of a movie for me or a show because you invest a whole season watching. You don't want to know what the finale is going to be before it happens. I just...

01:26:35 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 2:

What? What?

01:26:36 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 1:

How long do you have to wait for that kind of stuff then, too? Because, like, I want to talk about a movie that I saw this past weekend very, very, very badly. But I also understand not everybody can go to the movies that first opening weekend. But at what point do you go, okay, but we need to talk about what happened.

01:26:53 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

I think you let it go for a couple of weeks.

01:26:56 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 3:

No, not in our jobs.

01:26:58 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, not in our jobs. I'm saying if you're in, like, if Megan's talking about a circle of friends, yeah, you let it go for a couple of weeks.

01:27:04 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 2:

Or you just say spoiler alert, and then you give them a second to kind of back off and, you know. Right. Because there's some shows that are really talked about.

01:27:13 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's a lot. Some are talked about a lot. So, like, my daughter rushed to watch the final episode of The Last of Us because she knew everybody was going to talk about it immediately.

01:27:22 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 4:

And you know it's going to get spoiled. Yeah. You know the people are going to be talking about The Bachelor ending today. So if you don't want it to be spoiled, you better just sit in your bedroom.

01:27:30 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:27:30 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 4:

And not come out of the house or watch it when it happens.

01:27:33 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 3:

That's why my girlfriend watched it as it was happening because she didn't want it to be spoiled except her dumb boyfriend comes home from the Pistons game and starts making comments before it's over. And by the way, they got smart with that show this season because apparently they used to do the whole finale and show who wins, and then they would do an hour of interviews and have them reunite after, you know, and do all this. And she told me that nobody would watch that final hour. It was just dreadful, all the interviews and the garbage recap stuff. Last night was the first time. They interspersed it all throughout and made it through. You had to watch all three hours. They did not show you the ending until the very end at almost 11 o'clock.

01:28:14 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 2:

watch this season but okay so real quick um no complaints on shannon ruining the mass singer all the time for you guys no complaints because honestly if you're watching the mass singer you should be ruined yeah that do you remember do you remember when i can't remember if it was

01:28:33 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 4:

ken jennings or if it was somebody else there was somebody on jeopardy that had like a streak right and jeopardy's taped and remember i said i don't know at some point i said the next day like oh you know he he lost last night people were actually sending me death threats to the point where we remember we had to go on social media and on the air and say please stop like it was so over jeopardy guys it's well i do understand no it had already happened it had

01:28:58 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

already happened but it didn't air yet yes it had aired oh okay yeah then it's fair game yeah yeah yeah people are crazy yeah if they're that passionate they should have watched but you just played that clip it's not even just tv shows you just played the you were just talking about the person that went on the listener said somebody ruined a pregnancy announcement at a wedding and you're just like well how do you not understand your place to make those spoiler alerts like that's

01:29:22 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

not your announcement to make um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number i want to know who was it that ruined or was the spoiler alert or uh that didn't uh didn't alert you ahead of time and what was the thing that they ruined like what was the number one thing that that would have driven you crazy the worst is not necessarily like um you know like to me if if you watch like seven seasons of something like i don't know like breaking bad i give as an example and somebody saw it and then told you at the end like what it what it was and you put you invested

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 6:

a lot of time into it. You guys, Lost. That's worse to me than even like a two-hour movie. Lost was the one?

01:30:07 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 1:

Lost was that for me. I was on season three when it ended and everybody was like, crazy ending, right? And I was like, well, no point in finishing the next four seasons. I know how it ends. Yeah. I can't watch, yeah.

01:30:19 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 6:

But you have to understand something though with this. You almost, with these shows, have to understand that there are people that are watching Lost now.

01:30:28 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 3:

Right.

01:30:28 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:30:29 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

So they've been I never watched Lost. That's kind of on my list. But now I know the ending.

01:30:33 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 4:

But also Lost wasn't streaming where you can watch eight seasons in a row. You had to tune in to regular TV back then. So it's on you. If you just decide to start it four years later than the rest of the world, you can't be mad people are talking about the ending. You just have too much.

01:30:46 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 1:

That felt targeted.

01:30:48 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 4:

But it's true. You can't be mad the whole world's talking about. That's why you're watching it, because the whole world was talking about it.

01:30:54 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 6:

You've got to understand that you need to have more time on your hands like us to be able to watch all these things. What's up, Steven?

01:31:02 - 01:31:02 | Unknown:

What's up?

01:31:02 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 6:

Hi, everybody. Hey, man. What's going on? Who's the person that always ruins the ending?

01:31:07 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 2:

It's always my girlfriend. Every time we're watching the show together, she'll finish the show before me, and then she'll tell me, oh, I'm about to tell you the end. I'm like, don't tell me the end. I don't want to know. And she's the type of person that she'll watch a movie, and she'll want to know the end before it even ends.

01:31:20 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I hate that. I can't do that.

01:31:22 - 01:31:29 | Speaker 6:

I'm like that. I actually, honestly, I have no problem watching the end of something and then going back and watching, because I look then for little clues.

01:31:29 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Stephen, that's my five-year-old son, Smith. Can't watch anything with him, literally. I finally just got around to watching Coco a couple of months ago, and two minutes into the movie, he goes, eh, the grandma dies at the end. I'm like, what the heck? Spoiler alert. Guys, that movie was released in 2017.

01:31:47 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. You think Ken Jennings got you some hate mail?

01:31:51 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 4:

You actually just reminded me, though, that my girlfriend does that with other shows. she looks ahead like she she decided to start watching Grey's Anatomy earlier this year well she started looking ahead into and watching the shows out of order because she heard oh like oh I heard about the death of George and Izzy so let me watch go ahead a whole season to watch that so I'm like wait now I'm realizing I have a way out of this argument that I didn't spoil it for

01:32:17 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 9:

her she would have just spoiled it for herself what's up Tony hi um my now ex-boyfriend ruined the last season of Stranger Things for me.

01:32:27 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 6:

And that's why you dumped him.

01:32:29 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 9:

It made me dislike him because here's the thing. So he wasn't caught up yet when the new season came out. So I rewatched the last season for him and waited for him to watch it with him. And he spoiled it in a text while I was at work. He said, I can't believe Eddie dies. I said, what? Wow. Dick. I was like, what? Yeah, it was awful. It was terrible.

01:32:53 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 6:

Stephanie.

01:32:57 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 8:

Hi, me?

01:32:58 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, are you Stephanie?

01:33:00 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 8:

No, my name is Bethany.

01:33:01 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Bethany, I apologize. We misheard you. What's going on?

01:33:04 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 8:

That's my fault. So a guy at work actually ruined Avengers Endgame.

01:33:09 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That's a big one. Yeah, it is.

01:33:12 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 8:

Yes. I have my entire line. We're like nothing but nerds. So we literally were so anticipating this movie. And then this dude came up to me. He was like, oh, it's not like it's a big deal. It's not like it's just Tony Stark that dies at the end.

01:33:25 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez. Wait, you just said it. There you go. I remember that. When I was in high school, when Iron Man came out, I used to think it was funny to walk out of those movies when it was really, really busy and just give a fake, like a fake spoiler.

01:33:38 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 4:

Like I would have said that in the first Iron Man. And then you get punched in the face.

01:33:43 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 6:

Bethany, is that what you guys did to your co-worker? Did you guys all pummel him?

01:33:47 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 8:

We blackballed him. Like we literally, like everybody completely stopped talking to him. He did not exist, so it's after that.

01:33:53 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Jordan?

01:33:56 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 7:

Speak of how you guys just mentioned Grey's Anatomy, I had started watching it a little bit ago, and one of my best friends, she had spoiled one of the major characters dying for me when I had just started it. Yeah.

01:34:09 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. By the way, speaking of that, everybody's texting and saying Spike, Izzy doesn't die.

01:34:17 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, I didn't want to say real plot lines And ruin it for people

01:34:21 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 6:

I know But everybody's like Jordan here Who just started watching it

01:34:26 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 7:

I didn't want to say the name Yeah

01:34:27 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah But it's funny though When you do like a mic Where you give the wrong The wrong thing And then everybody's like Are you watching the same one I am And what are you taking While you're watching Listen to this story here It's Mojo in the Morning Go to Jennifer Jennifer This is a real life Ruining it

01:34:44 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 9:

Good morning

01:34:47 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 6:

Good morning

01:34:47 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 9:

How are you guys

01:34:47 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 6:

We're good We're talking about the

01:34:49 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 9:

people who don't give spoiler alerts yes so i went in for my 20-week ultrasound and i told the nurse i told the doctor

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 2:

That we wanted to keep the gender a surprise Until the delivery So she does the ultrasound And she was having trouble with something So another nurse came in And she's like oh he's not hiding this

01:35:12 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh no I would have been so mad

01:35:15 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 1:

I didn't find out for both of mine I would have been so mad

01:35:18 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 2:

And they apologized And I mean mistakes happen But it definitely was my biggest surprise ruiner

01:35:26 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 1:

That's such a bummer

01:35:28 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 4:

Did they give you your delivery for free? That's like ruining your meal at a restaurant. Thank you for the call, Jennifer. Home of the phone scams. Dirty on the 30 and the War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. So, Mike, this is legit, huh?

01:35:53 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 5:

A crying room? I've never heard of this before. Maybe people have this at their jobs and I just didn't know it was a thing. But the Grand Rapids Brewing Company has a room that they call their crying room, which is basically if a co-worker is having a bad day, if you're at the bar. I mean, when they were showing me around the place, it was the first thing they showed me. If somebody at the bar is having a moment and they just need to step. Maybe there's a public breakup and they need to step away and just have a good cry. You can go back in this room, handle your business, have a good cry, come back out, and go back and do what you're doing.

01:36:31 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 4:

So the staff can use it, but also customers can use it too?

01:36:35 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. They were giving me a tour. That's the first thing they showed me was that room. What does the room look like? It's really just a back room. It would be a good idea to have more things like a couch and a TV and maybe stuff like that, but it was just a back room. I think that it was maybe something new or something they're kind of toying around with. But I was telling Megan and Schmitty about this during Irish and Ionia, and they're like, Megan, didn't you say you have one, or you had one at a different job?

01:37:03 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 2:

I had one at a different job. It was the cooler at the back of a restaurant I worked at, and it was a specific cooler because we had three of them, and one of them was definitely for crying.

01:37:13 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 5:

That's a genius idea.

01:37:15 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 2:

And then I have one here as well. There's an old office here that nobody is assigned to anymore, and everybody knows that the door's closed. You're having a moment in there, and it's a sad moment, and you need your space.

01:37:27 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 4:

So if you are getting a little emotional or feel like your emotions are coming on and you don't want to cry in front of people, you go into the room and just do the crying.

01:37:35 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 2:

Just go back in there and do it.

01:37:37 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 4:

Is it psychotic of me that I like to cry in front of people? I don't know why that is. I'm fine with it.

01:37:44 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I feel like you crying in front of people, people are like, oh, you're so vulnerable. I really appreciate this about you. When I cry, people are like, get it together.

01:37:54 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

That might be true. The manager of Grand Rapids Brewing Company pointed out to me when I got there during the broadcast, and I thought she was joking at first. And then I thought, well, what a sad state of affairs that we need a place for servers to go hide and get a good cry in, you know? And I think it also, it's one of those occupations that people are just ruder to servers than I think maybe any other that I could think of.

01:38:19 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 4:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 any listeners have a room that they go to uh maybe it's not actually

01:38:28 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 5:

the quote unquote or technical crying room i have a favorite bathroom that i go to if i get really mad like to the like if they ever tell me hey you can't go on vacation like there's a favorite bathroom here it's also the poop bathroom it's the bathroom that i'll go wait so it's wait a second

01:38:42 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

hold on it's the bathroom that you go to when you get mad so it's the mad room uh it would be yeah

01:38:47 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 5:

So if I got angry and didn't want to shout in my office and didn't want to just take a moment, take a breather, it's also where you can take the best poop at. But it just happens to be the same place because nobody goes down there. It's the bathroom in the basement. Why is it the best poop bathroom? Because nobody goes down there. Okay. So you're alone. So it's not that the toilet's more comfortable than any other toilet? No, it kind of looks like a scary scene from a scary movie. It looks like Friday the 13th, kind of boy in the room type thing.

01:39:13 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 3:

When I was in the food industry, it was always the walk-in freezer.

01:39:15 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 4:

that's the place everybody goes to cry that was the the emotional area and then did the cold

01:39:22 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 3:

kind of help you just the one place you're not going to be seen yeah what's going on mojo in

01:39:28 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 1:

the morning eric yeah uh my work actually has a meditation room and it's actually really really helpful um it's not necessarily does take an age of crying people can like get stressed out going there like that out and then like they also have like blankets and stuff so like people that are is it the Muslim religion where they pray a lot and stuff like that what do you do

01:39:52 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 4:

what kind of work

01:39:53 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

what do you do first off I'm a software developer that's cool

01:40:00 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 5:

that room um so like there's like one chair uh like a comfortable chair there's like a radio so that you can put like nature sounds on and then like there's a basket like full blanket so like if you're gonna sit on the floor or something like that you can always lay one out and kind of

01:40:16 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 4:

do your thing i think it's very cool your office offers that i still don't know if it would help me because i'm still at work and i know right on the other side of that wall is the guy that just It totally annoyed me. I'm still there. It's too close. I don't know, but it's cool to help her.

01:40:32 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, it's great. It helps me out.

01:40:34 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's wild. Mojo in the morning. By the way, we got to designate maybe some of the rooms around here. I'm going to go into J Tower's studio, and that will be my crying room. While he's in the midst of the show playing some very sad song probably at the time.

01:40:50 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 4:

We have a crying room right next door, but it's just because the computers just froze up while we were editing audio. and we have to start all over again.

01:40:56 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Melanie?

01:40:57 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 5:

You need a farting move.

01:40:59 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

01:41:00 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 3:

We're sitting in it. Thanks, Eric. Eric, I'll go to you next. What's up, Eric?

01:41:06 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, bye. See you, Eric.

01:41:07 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, buddy. What's going on, Melanie?

01:41:11 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:41:12 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up?

01:41:14 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm a server by trade, and I'll speak for many servers. We all go to the walk-in. We go to the walk-in to scream. We go there to shout. We go there to cry.

01:41:23 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just got a text from Laura from Eddie's, one of our favorite restaurants. Laura's the best. She's a hardcore Mojo in the Morning listener. By the way, Laura, we are doing Naughty Mom's Night Out coming up here soon, and we'll announce that soon. But she says that she goes into their cooler to do the same exact thing, to scream. Who are you screaming about, coworkers or customers?

01:41:46 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 2:

Both, but mostly customers because we get a lot of crap.

01:41:51 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 4:

yeah yeah it's not just crying to get out of sight i forgot the walk-in freezer is so thick

01:41:57 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 3:

that you can scream and nobody will hear you can i bring something up real quick um uh melody to uh tail end on this topic here about these rooms since you're a server at a restaurant so yesterday i was eating at a restaurant okay and it's a coney island and i was you know quickly grabbing something to eat for lunch and i was by myself and the woman that was sitting in the booth behind me was chewing on her ice like not for a second but the entire time that she was sitting down there she was like crunching on her ice and it went on for so long and got to be so annoying and you know what that feels like by the way when somebody chews on ice it like gets into your your nervous system right the people that were on the opposite side of her like we were sandwiched Sandwiching the ice chewer in They got up and asked to move across the restaurant Because they couldn't take it anymore

01:42:53 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 6:

It was that bad

01:42:54 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Melanie, as a server in a restaurant Do I have the right to tell that woman To cut the F out? Melanie Oh, she hung up the phone She's in the room Wait, no, she's in the cooler Did she get Oh, she disconnected from me Do I have the right to say First off, if my wife was there with me and I was the one doing that, she will tell me to stop it. Like, she'll tell me if I'm really loud chewing, she'll, like, say, stop that. But if I was chewing on ice, she would tell me to stop that. Don't I have the right to tell this person to stop that? No. No?

01:43:33 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 6:

But I'm surprised knowing you because you can be at times, as we all can be, by the way, slightly passive-aggressive, that you didn't say out loud, wow, somebody's chewing their ice, really? I don't know what's that noise.

01:43:45 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 3:

Maybe that's the way I needed to do it. Maybe that was it. Maybe I needed to say that to her. But it was so bad. So if you're in public and if a person is making like crazy loud noises or doing something, you don't have the right to say, can you like stop that?

01:44:05 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 6:

Well, you do. Of course you have the right to say it.

01:44:07 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm not trying to be a Karen or anything like that. I'm trying just to basically, I would have helped that other table and myself not have to like have to deal with who's i are you guys ice chewers maybe you guys oh megan i know it's

01:44:20 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

the worst no it's not it's just a satisfying texture it's a satisfying texture yeah that you

01:44:28 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 3:

have to do it and annoy everybody else that is around you i just don't care about other people

01:44:33 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 4:

there's 20 kinds of annoying people at a restaurant so you just have to take your chances You can always ask for a new table, move over to the other side.

01:44:41 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, what I ended up doing was when those people left and did it, I sat there for a little bit longer, and then the waitress came over, and I said, hey, did they move because of the ice chewer? And she's like, oh, my God, it's so obnoxious. You can hear it across the restaurant. I'm like, I'm going to the counter, and I sat at the counter, and I could still barely hear it.

01:45:00 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 2:

And I said to her, I go, hey, can you do me a favor? When you go over there to refill her water, take her glass away and give her water with no ice. Like, take her ice away from her because it's got to stop. You can always do what Shannon does every time I chew gum.

01:45:16 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That right there. On the air.

01:45:24 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it's the most juicy chew I've ever heard in my life. You do have a juicy chew. It's like, thank you. I keep waiting for a horse to come in. It drives my wife nuts, too. I don't know why I do it. But you know what?

01:45:37 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

Good for you for chewing gum rather than smoking.

01:45:40 - 01:45:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Erica? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hello.

01:45:43 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 4:

I was just going to let you guys know that when I took a psychology class in college, they told me that chewing ice is a form of a sign of sexual frustration.

01:45:55 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Yeah, I've heard that before. Looking at this woman, I don't know if maybe it was sexual frustration. I mean, she was just going at it, and I looked at her. I'm like, holy crap. I felt for whoever she was going home to that night because I'm thinking if she does this at home, could you imagine how much that would –

01:46:13 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 4:

You're not going to have any teeth left.

01:46:14 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 2:

I know. I wanted to actually call up Dr. DePilla and say something to him about it and say, hey, can you tell her to stop chewing the ice like that?

01:46:25 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 4:

Maybe she was dieting

01:46:26 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 2:

That might be it Maybe that's what it is Sometimes you act like that What's up mom? Oh I lost you There's another person that gets annoyed by the chewing of ice What noise annoys you more? Like is there the chewing sound Somebody chewing ice Slurping noise A person that like eats popcorn Some people can't deal with that Like in a movie theater when it gets really quiet Do you ever find yourself putting popcorn in your mouth and you're, like, sucking on it because you don't want to chew it because you know you're going to annoy everybody? How about the humming while they're eating?

01:46:59 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 3:

No, that's just people have a good time. Stop it. Stop it. People are enjoying themselves. You just sit there and stare at your plate. No, it crosses. Like, when Tim does it, Tim Murphy does it, it's... Yeah, like making love to his food. And he knows I hate it. But a little bit of shoulder wiggle. A shoulder wiggle. I do like a shoulder wiggle. It's good. And people who bite their forks.

01:47:19 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, biking. Oh, yeah.

01:47:21 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 3:

Or how about people who scrape the bottom of their yogurt container so loud, my teeth actually hurt. Like my co-host sitting to my right. I do it just for you now.

01:47:31 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 2:

It's like, I'll buy you another yogurt.

01:47:34 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 3:

And now I know. No, he started bringing two. So it's like I get an encore.

01:47:41 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jodi?

01:47:43 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:47:44 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on?

01:47:44 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 7:

My sister does the scraping. When we eat, she's scraping forks on her teeth as she pulls the fork out of her mouth. It hurts your teeth, too. At the point, I set out plastic forks when she comes over.

01:48:00 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 2:

That's so genius. Good job. What's up, Chelsea?

01:48:04 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So my ex-sister-in-law used to let my niece and nephew, who I love very, very much. They're great kids. But she used to, when she would go out to eat with any of us, she would just let her kids run amok and make us chase them around the restaurant. I literally had to chase my nephew around a giant Texas roadhouse for like 10 minutes because I couldn't catch him because he kept weaving in and out of tables. And she just sat there and let me do it.

01:48:33 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 2:

It's hard to run, too, with peanuts everywhere on the floor, too. It's hard to run around the rest. It is funny how oblivious some parents are, though. It's almost kind of like they don't even realize that their child is doing that. What's up, Drew?

01:48:47 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 1:

How's it going? Good morning.

01:48:49 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Drew?

01:48:50 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 1:

So when you're at a restaurant and you hear people chew with their mouth open, that is the worst. That's like one of me and my mom's biggest pet peeves.

01:49:02 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a popular one on the text, too.

01:49:04 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 2:

My wife would want you in a restaurant with me so that you'd come up and yell at me for that because she says I open mouth, chew all the time. Thank you for the call, buddy. Appreciate it, Drew.

01:49:18 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 3:

I'm worried about him.

01:49:21 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 2:

Very mellow. Hopefully he's not driving right now. What's up, Danielle?

01:49:26 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 5:

Hey. I would say, honestly, like when they're chewing, they're slurping their noodles. My grandma's Japanese And that's like a custom If they're good, you flirt It grosses me out

01:49:38 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 2:

That is, by the way I was thinking about that That must be a Japanese custom Because I have a Japanese friend That does the same thing too When, you know, we'll go out for food It was like Maybe that's a sign to the chef That it was good

01:49:50 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 5:

It is And you're like, I get it It's good, but you're grossing me out I'm going to be sick

01:49:55 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's funny Thank you for the call Kelly, what is it that you do?

01:50:00 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 4:

that your husband doesn't like um so i swallow really loudly and my husband and i've been together for 15 years he like will look over and laugh at me if we're sitting alone together and it's so bad that if i'm in a quiet room with other people i get nervous to swallow because i've

01:50:20 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 3:

realized it's so loud it just is it one of those like one of those type of things yeah he says it's

01:50:27 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 4:

like this gold thing and i'm like i don't do it on purpose i swear but he's so loud you can hear

01:50:34 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 3:

it across the room that's funny everybody's listening to this thing right now giggling over a wife saying that her husband doesn't like when you do that um yeah thanks guys thank you we appreciate it um all right uh mojo in the morning we don't hold hands it's not that we're

01:50:53 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 2:

against PDAs. We're just always holding our phones. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:51:01 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 3:

What's trending this hour, Shannon?

01:51:03 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 5:

Unfortunately, another school shooting happened yesterday, this time in Nashville. And it's just heartbreaking, especially when three nine-year-olds were victims here. Also, three adults all dead this morning. A shooter identified by police as a 28-year-old Nashville resident.

01:51:23 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 2:

She was a former student at the school. I don't know what grade she's attended or grades, but we do firmly believe she was a student there. She does identify as transgender.

01:51:37 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 5:

Police say the suitor entered the covenant, excuse me, a private Christian school in Nashville with two assault rifles and a handgun and was shot dead after being engaged by officers at the scene. Again, this is a private Christian school for students from preschool to sixth grade. No resource officers on campus when the attack occurred. And I don't know if this gave you guys, it was like flashbacks to Sandy Hook, seeing all of these kids coming out of the school linked hand in hand.

01:52:06 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 2:

So it was five officers that immediately went in and addressed. We have video that we're going to release, but you can see in the video, you can hear gunfire going on as they're in the school. They address the threat and take that threat down.

01:52:23 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 5:

This morning, police say they think they do have a motive.

01:52:27 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 2:

There's some belief that there was some resentment for having to go to that school. Don't have all the details of that just yet.

01:52:34 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just so, so, so sad. In Other Dirty Today, Taylor Swift taking a break from her ERAs tour to hang out at last night's iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she was honored with the Innovator Award.

01:52:48 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 1:

I never a single time woke up in the morning and thought, you know what I'm going to do today? I'm going to go innovate some stuff. Things need to be innovated, and I'm going to be the one that does it. But what I did do was try to make the right decision for me at the time, whether or not it had ever been successfully done before.

01:53:11 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 5:

Social media all over and loving her crystal-colored jumpsuit she was wearing last night, which consisted of a hooded jacket, pants, and boots. Could have been plucked straight from her reputation era, by the way. The BTS Army winning the Fan Army Award last night. Taylor's anti-hero taking home Song of the Year. Jax took home Best New Pop Artist, Harry Styles Artist of the Year. You can see the full winner's list and the performances and all of the red carpet appearances on the Dirty Page at MojoInTheMorning.com. AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys is separating from his wife. Separating, but not divorcing. They've been together for over a decade. AJ and Rochelle said marriage is hard, but worth it. We have mutually decided to separate temporarily to work on ourselves and our marriage with the hope of building a stronger future. They write, the plan is to come back together and continue to nurture our love for one another and our family. They do have two little girls together. And lastly, Megan, I know you're all over John Wick. Chapter four. Well, a report from the Wall Street Journal reveals that Keanu Reeves' John Wick says only 380 words. during the Nubis movie in the franchise, John Wick Chapter 4, which runs nearly three hours long. 380 words.

01:54:28 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 3:

That's why Keanu Reeves is so good in it.

01:54:29 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 5:

That's it.

01:54:31 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 4:

First of all, you shut your mouth. Second of all. There's got to be less than 1,000 words in the whole movie, then.

01:54:39 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, so 380 words. Nearly a third of his dialogue in this installment consists of just a single word, and I think he got a $15 million paycheck for it. Good for him. But they say his limited dialogue is all by design. The director said they stripped out roughly half of the dialogue written.

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 2:

for him in all of the movies. That was very strategic.

01:55:03 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 3:

It makes it more mysterious. You know what I mean? Like when you're not talking much and you got all that action.

01:55:09 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, it's got to be a much harder movie to make. You think about it, like how much training went into it and then choreography and staging and then filming. Like all of those scenes take days and days and days to film. I feel like it would be way harder to have no dialogue. Yeah.

01:55:24 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:55:25 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 2:

it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning this should be played at high volume

01:57:32 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning mojo spike shannon megan mike kp and lydia 104.5 snx 92.5 kiss fm and channel 955 last night all hanging out together went to the Yeah, Pistons game. Thank you to the Pistons for hosting us and giving us the nice shout-out during the game. We got a chance to meet a bunch of listeners, man. It was wild walking the concourse there, getting a chance to run into a bunch of people. So it was really cool. And getting a lot of texts this morning from listeners, too. One person not happy with what happened last night. and her reason behind not being happy with that might be something that you can relate to. Go ahead, Megan. Who are you not happy with?

01:58:26 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 2:

Shannon Murphy. I'm very, I'm not mad. I'm disappointed.

01:58:32 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 1:

Hmm. That hurts a little more.

01:58:35 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

And I think you almost had my mental name. Shannon Nicole Murphy. Oh. so disappointed in you because i thought we had come to an agreement yesterday and that agreement was it was very obvious that we needed to get food but we didn't really want to eat an entire meal so we decided to go have these like the real girls that we are we'll just go have these we'll just cheer it which by the way this girl was like okay i can't have this i can't have this i can't I can't have this, I can't have this. I said, I'm trying to eat healthy. Allergies. Oh, yeah, any allergies? Oh, yeah, she'll die or whatever. Yeah, well, oh, okay. I guess she didn't want to pay to go to the hospital, so we had to work around that. But then when it came to actually ordering, she wouldn't choose anything. She's one of those girls that's like, you just pick. No, that's stressful, B, very rude of you. Very stressful to put all of that on me. Not only did she make me decide everything, But then we sat down, and this bitch ate the entire meal. She ate the entire thing. This is true. I was a little hungrier than I anticipated. So essentially, I just built Shannon's dinner last night with all of the stress while she was filming me, judging my choices. Then she said.

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 1:

to the point where on my way home, I had to stop and get food. I'm so sorry.

02:00:05 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 5:

I hate sharing with people, sharing meals with people for that particular reason. And, Megan, earlier this morning I said, you now know what it's like to be married to a dude. Now you know what it's like to be married to a woman. I felt so bad.

02:00:18 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 1:

Because that's what happens. At one point I looked down and I was like, ooh, ooh, I think I ate like 80% of it before Megan had even taken a bite.

02:00:25 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 5:

There is nothing worse than sharing a meal with somebody meal with somebody who says in the beginning, I want to share a meal. Do you want to share this meal? Yeah. Well, I'm not really that hungry. And then you find out. I'm starving.

02:00:37 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

They are starving. No. So I had three bites of rice, two of Mike's fries, one of Lydia's fries, and that's it.

02:00:45 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:00:46 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 1:

My dinner was carbs.

02:00:50 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 5:

It's, uh.

02:00:51 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 1:

You're not. I'm not. It was really freaking

02:00:55 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 3:

good. I should have saved my cheesy breadsticks that I tried to give to mojo and he would not eat them at all he refused to eat my breadsticks i was starving i

02:01:04 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 5:

would have eaten them if they didn't have like loads of gluten uh in them yeah i was afraid to crap myself and have you ever have you ever had to have diarrhea in a uh stadium bathroom it's not

02:01:16 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 1:

good they took away my room spray when i was going in there because you know hot girls have stomach problems and i carry room spray with me wherever i go and they took it they threw it away wait when you were going through security yes and the guy was like what's this for and i said embarrassing

02:01:31 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

moments in public it's so funny i went through security with megan and i she said they took some of my things i didn't ask specifically what things like what that's kind of weird to bring an

02:01:41 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 1:

aerosol to well i wasn't thinking about it but also anybody who has ibs knows that you just gotta like i'm a girl scout always be prepared yeah and although i'm not rude i make it smell nice

02:01:54 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 5:

um spike and mike do your ladies in your life want to share food with you all the time or do you guys uh you know have them do they like to eat their own meals no they're pretty good uh

02:02:08 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 2:

i mean not they how do you know meg's pretty good she my girlfriend will order her own thing and sometimes i'm the one that want to taste hers i'm the annoying one yeah but we end up we a lot of times we just end up ordering two things and then sharing both of them because because well do you

02:02:22 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 5:

ever have it where you order two things and one over shares like one eats more than 50 percent of

02:02:28 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

the food no i don't think so sometimes i drink a little faster with the beer and then i'll pour

02:02:34 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 5:

a little of her beer into my cup i hate sharing i hate sharing for this reason that what you said you eat a little bit faster yeah because what happens with me is i eat faster she eats slower and all i want to do is finish the rest of what she didn't finish but i don't want to do it too fast because i have done that and she doesn't need anything but mike do you ever do that with

02:02:56 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 3:

allie do you guys share food or i don't mind sharing but the thing my wife does is she'll wait for for like to see what i want and then she'll get that exact same thing and i'm like well we can't share then because you've you've just gotten the same thing i got i want i want two completely different things so that we can share different things yeah you're that that well

02:03:15 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 5:

that's a that's a foul that we've talked about before on the show where you can't order the same meals as the the other person uh what's up david i can't share until i'm done don't touch

02:03:26 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 4:

my plate while i'm eating once i'm finished have all you want don't share food

02:03:31 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 5:

give us a give us an example of why you don't like to share but what has happened to you that's caused you to be so uh oh is that what it is really absolutely how much you know did you wash

02:03:47 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 4:

your hands or whatever i don't want you touching my food that i'm eating at the same time when i'm done have all you want i don't care wait even with your even with your partner though like you you think their hands are that dirty everybody's dirty everybody's hands are dirty okay i don't know how they eat after me i'm a pig

02:04:04 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 5:

so um what would you have done if you were megan and you would have somebody like shannon who says I'm not really that hungry, and then she eats the entire thing.

02:04:17 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 4:

I'd be mad.

02:04:21 - 02:04:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's the reason.

02:04:22 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 4:

You order yours, I'll order mine, you know, whatever you want after I'm done.

02:04:27 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 5:

Is it bad, by the way, that yesterday we were eating in this, like, I don't know what they call it at the Little Caesars Arena.

02:04:34 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 1:

Like a food hall?

02:04:34 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like a food court or something like they have at the mall. And I really wanted the burgers, but the line was way too long. You ever go to like the food court at the mall and the one place always has the longest line and you know it's because it's the best food there? But I will settle for the Sbarro pizza that has nobody there and stuff's been under the heat lamp for about five years because I'm so hungry.

02:05:00 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Extra flavor.

02:05:02 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 1:

By the way, somebody needs to tell me at those food courts, the food that's on display, that has basically been sitting there for eight years since you guys opened up, right?

02:05:12 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 2:

It's always the cookie places. The cookie places that look like it's dried out and weird looking. I'm like, oh, put something new in there.

02:05:20 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 1:

Why is it also, too, at restaurants when they have the dessert spinny thing in the beginning of the restaurant where it shows you the desserts? The plastic or fake looking desserts Look better than the stuff that they bring out to you I'm like spray it down With some kind of a lacquer Or something like that That makes it look a little shiny

02:05:39 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 5:

Last night we were all eating at the district Which is kind of like a food court And so I was Sitting there looking at There's no line at the salad place And I just couldn't do it I'm like I'd rather stand in a long line

02:05:53 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 1:

How do you trust a salad at a game? You know what I mean? How fresh is that lettuce?

02:05:59 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, it looks fresh. It's probably just as fresh as everything else. They're probably all using the same kitchen for all six restaurants. To me, it's just, I can't have a salad at a basketball game. I have a beer in my hand. It's not going to fill me up. It's just not going to work. And then I'm going to be talking to listeners all night with a big leaf of lettuce in my teeth.

02:06:18 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 1:

My favorite were these guys. It was like a family from Macomb that were in front of us. And I said, is this thing good? Like the Chipotle knockoff that they have there And he goes, yeah, I haven't gotten sick yet I'm like, alright, cool I'm going to try that It will probably be pretty tasty It is time now on Mojo in the Morning For our weekly feature Where you get to call out a listener And get away with it Am I the a-hole? You can say the word off the air if you want to On the phone with us is Olivia. Hi, Olivia. Hey, good morning. Good morning. Welcome to Am I the A-Hole? So Olivia wants to know if she's an a-hole for having the feelings that she does. I guess to kind of give a little bit of a recap, so you have a really good friend that has been calling you for support, and it's about her relationship? Yeah. All right, tell us the story. So what's been going on?

02:07:25 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so just one of my really close friends, she just found out that her boyfriend of over three years had been cheating on her, unfortunately, which is just awful. So she's been calling me every day for support, and, you know, I'm trying to be there for her because that's a really hard situation. And I'm pretty, you know, pissed off that my friend is hurt. But here's the thing. At the same time, like, I'm actually kind of thrilled.

02:07:52 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

um so that's where my what do you mean you're kind of thrilled well because this means that

02:08:00 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 4:

i get to see her more like when he was around it was like oh god it was like pulling teeth to get her to do anything so already at this point we have more plans than we did for a long time so

02:08:12 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 3:

yeah i guess you felt like you lost your friend in the relationship and now you kind of get her

02:08:17 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

back so exactly so you're wondering if you're an a-hole for feeling the way that you do that you are happy that they're having problems because now you actually have your friend

02:08:29 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if necessarily you're an a-hole I know I think that that's a very um like a very normal human emotion I don't know like I think we all feel things like that we know that it's that we shouldn't be happy that you know someone is someone that's close to us is hurting or going through something bad but at the same time i think it's normal to be like well but the silver

02:08:49 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 1:

lining is now i get to i get them all to myself all right can i ask a question are you giving her

02:08:54 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 4:

bad advice or bad comfort good because of this no no no i'm not that has anybody ever done that

02:09:02 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

before like you'll have to call us up and tell us if you can can relate to uh what olivia is going on in her life like where you you uh didn't like the person that your friend was dating or didn't like that they were dating and spending all this time with them and you were either happy about it or kind of like looking forward to that having them spend a little bit more time with you or you did give them bad advice like you kind of faked your way through the whole thing um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what do you guys think uh is olivia the a-hole i would say no yeah i don't think so

02:09:39 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 2:

I would say yeah but so am I I would say I'd do the same thing

02:09:45 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 3:

If she was Strategically like you know

02:09:49 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Steering her wrong

02:09:50 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Causing a bigger wedge I would say yeah But this is like something internally That she's feeling and I don't think that You know

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Like if you were the reason

02:10:00 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 2:

That's why they're breaking up because you were telling her that she, you know, could, like, do you do the whole you deserve better thing? Have you done that?

02:10:11 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, she does deserve better. Okay. But honestly, does she? I mean, you're cheating on her.

02:10:17 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. A couple quick texts here. Text, am I the a-hole? Olivia, no. Another texter here says, yes, Olivia, you should be honest with her about your feelings towards the relationship, including your feelings towards wanting to spend more time with her so that she knows that it's okay. I don't know. I'll be honest with you, Olivia. Like, usually our MI of the A-holes blow up with phone calls, and I've got, like, 17 open lines right now. So either people can't relate to this one at all, or they're kind of in a thing where they either think one way or another. And I think it's that they don't think you're an a-hole. What's up, Jill?

02:11:06 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. I don't think she's the a-hole.

02:11:09 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 2:

No? Can you relate to that, though? Have you ever had that happen?

02:11:13 - 02:11:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I've lost friends completely to relationships. And unfortunately, you know, something goes wrong, and then suddenly they're back in your life, like, full-fledged, which is great. Like, it sucks that it's under those circumstances, but...

02:11:26 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

Jill, did you ever wish for your friend's relationship demise because you didn't like the fact that you lost your friend to the relationship?

02:11:34 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 6:

Well, not because I lost a friend to the relationship, but because I knew that they weren't being treated right, yeah.

02:11:39 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:11:40 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay, but to play devil's advocate, if I had brought this up, people would say to me, stay out of people's business, it's not your place to intervene. But she's not intervening.

02:11:50 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 6:

She's just internally thinking, like, yes, I get her back.

02:11:52 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 2:

But that's just you, Megan. That's just being able and pleasant. Yeah, I agree with you.

02:11:57 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 5:

She's saying that she went to her friend and said, you can do better. Isn't that intervening? Oh, I didn't think she said it to her friend.

02:12:03 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 2:

No, her friend initially went to her for comfort. Oh, right. So she did it. But you're right, though. Some people get called out for being an a-hole faster than others. And I think sometimes you're just honestly more honest. Like, I think that that's the case. People know where you stand. What's going on, Courtney?

02:12:19 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I don't think Olivia is the a-hole Thank you I think her friend is the a-hole And I think every person who enters a relationship And then forgets their friend And then, oh, suddenly my boyfriend's being really a jerk And now I want to talk to you That's not cool That's all messed up

02:12:41 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's important It's important to point that out The friendship goes both ways You can't ignore your friends when you get a boyfriend and then go right back to them when you need them.

02:12:51 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Everybody does that. It's so frustrating.

02:12:54 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 2:

I like the people, though, that say that they can relate to this one here. I can relate to this. My friend started dating a guy who I absolutely could not stand. I actually would tell her bad things about him just so that she could be made aware of how bad of a guy he was. That's interesting. Point out his flaws. So doing that, I don't know if that has ever happened to any of our listeners.

02:13:18 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 5:

All you have to say is, you think he's cute? You don't ruin any relationships.

02:13:24 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? Am I the a-hole? Do you think that Olivia's an a-hole?

02:13:28 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't think she's the a-hole.

02:13:31 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah? Have you ever had a situation like this where you lost a friend?

02:13:36 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 5:

I have. And the reality of that is that sometimes people are put into relationships that, you know, are narcissistic. Like, she didn't know he was cheating on her for three years. Now she's out of that relationship Her friend gets her friend back She's coming back

02:13:51 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you can't say that word in there But you're right, she doesn't have to deal with this bitty relationship And now you got your friend back So it's a win-win, you're right Deja Hey Hey, what's up? You say that your friends do this all the time?

02:14:08 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 3:

I had a friend We were friends in high school That had this exact same situation Like I knew the person prior to her Dating this person And I told her, like, yeah, like, you know, I know from prior instances, like, this person is not a good person. I kind of tried to warn her before, and she's like, no, you just want to hate on my relationship. I'm like, I'm telling you. I'm like, all right. You know, I've always been that friend. Like, if I know something that's going to hurt you, I'm going to tell you. But you would never get the opportunity. Like, I didn't tell you. And then it all kind of, you know, blew up in her face, and she came back around. So, not the same situation as Olivia.

02:14:41 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if you could lose a friend faster by not telling them how much you disliked the person than you could if you did say that you disliked him. Like, is there a chance that that could happen? Because I think people probably would be more upset with you telling them that you don't like the boyfriend. But then there are probably some people that would be like, wait, why?

02:15:00 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 3:

didn't you say anything like i've had that before same me too on the person like me i'm an upfront

02:15:06 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 5:

person so jeez hold on that was me that was i i'm sorry i was looking at the today show and they had a tiger on there i apologize i got i got all crazy for some reason my finger went down i am so sorry about that deja was it a cool tiger yeah what was the tiger doing i don't know it was it was a weird thing i was on there um i'm the a-hole what's up brianna hi hey

02:15:34 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 2:

um please don't hang up on me i'm not i'm not looking at the tvs now go ahead

02:15:42 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 3:

okay um actually i've been in like all three sides i've been the friend that didn't say anything and then got stunned for not saying something i've been the friend that has been very open about how i feel about the way things were going and had to take a step back because i was i was the a-hole and then it ended up blowing up in her face and i got the oh i told you so i was actually able to say that and i'm usually pretty blunt about how it is because at the end of the day if you're a friend you've got to let them know what's going on i think that being the

02:16:21 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 5:

friend telling them is sometimes harder than the person that's losing the relationship. I know that sounds weird to say this, but you know, it's

02:16:29 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 2:

exhausting. It's stressful. It's a stressful situation.

02:16:33 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, wait, I was just saying.

02:16:35 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Brianna. I appreciate it. Olivia, thank you. I hope that you understand that you're in a good place here. You're a good friend, and we'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning.

Kelly, say hello to Mom.

02:17:43 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mom. Hi, Kel.

02:17:46 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 5:

Tell her that.

02:17:47 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 4:

My family's all packed in the car.

02:17:49 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Who's all in the car?

02:17:53 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 4:

02:17:56 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Yes. No children on speakerphone, right?

02:18:00 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. No. Somewhere else.

02:18:02 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Wait, where are you guys in a warm climate somewhere?

02:18:06 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, down in Punta Gorda, Florida.

02:18:08 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 5:

Are you on spring break vacation right now? Yes. Tell her the name of the contest.

02:18:14 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 3:

So, Mom, bear with me. This is six on sex

02:18:18 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 4:

Sex on sex Six questions On sex You have to listen

02:18:25 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 5:

Okay Six questions about Kelly's sex life And if at any point You feel like you want to just go to the beach And drown yourself Hang up the phone so you don't do that Okay

02:18:39 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

But if you hang up she doesn't get the prize

02:18:43 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 2:

I won't hang up I love that we're listening to the wind blowing as she walks the beach.

02:18:49 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 5:

It feels warm. Yes.

02:18:51 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're sitting here freezing our butts off.

02:18:53 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, bring that warm air to us, okay?

02:18:55 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay, we will.

02:18:57 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 5:

Here we go. Question number one in Six on Sex. Kelly, how old were you when you lost your virginity?

02:19:06 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 4:

I was 13. 13? Okay, go ahead.

02:19:12 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, 13 years old. God, you f**k. Kelly. It's all downhill from here. Question number two. Kelly, you are 29 years old? Yes. How many people have you had sex with in your life?

02:19:32 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 3:

02:19:44 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

now was your crazier time when you were younger oh yeah then let's ask this question here uh did you ever do anything when you were in school that your mom doesn't know about

02:20:00 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 4:

yes tell us about that yeah yeah there might have been once or twice that there were a couple

02:20:10 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 2:

02:20:17 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 4:

where in the school would you do that a knock at claw probably the locker rooms and then there was like this stairway like over in the athletic area that was kind of like a known little area that people would go to it was just kind of tucked away that i mean people knew about it

02:20:37 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

but like people didn't know about it type deal oh boy okay did you mom did you want to do anything

02:20:49 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 3:

right now you want to hang up the phone no no keep going this is entertaining this is entertaining okay all right but by the end of this these questions she'll be off the will

02:21:01 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 2:

02:22:03 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

Mom are you aware Well oh yeah I believe that She lost a bet and that's how she Ended up with child number one And I know it had to happen in our House

02:22:14 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean lost a bet explain that

02:22:18 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 3:

well so her husband is a state fan and she's a well were you for iowa that day or u of m

02:22:27 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

no it was the michigan michigan state game it was the botched punt man and oh that's right and you

02:22:34 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 4:

bet the father of your your child we had a bet going and so i lost the bet i had to wear the t-shirt a whole lot of alcohol ensued afterward and we are very confident that that was the night Our daughter was in school.

02:22:48 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

02:22:49 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 4:

Mine, too, we only knew each other for, like, two months at the time.

02:22:52 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. So there was trouble with the snap, and there was trouble with the child birth control.

02:22:58 - 02:22:59 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:23:01 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. And question number six and six on sex, I guess we can make you feel a little uncomfortable when you're around your mom now, because I understand you're married, your husband's name is Derek, and is he also on vacation with you?

02:23:16 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 4:

He is. He's downstairs with the Littles.

02:23:18 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay. So he's downstairs with the Littles. Where is the craziest place that you and Derek have ever done it?

02:23:29 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 4:

So that would probably be driving while I was driving.

02:23:35 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 2:

Wait, while you were driving.

02:23:37 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 4:

How? So, we maneuvered away to where he was able to help me out while I was driving his big giant truck.

02:23:52 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 2:

What kind of truck?

02:23:54 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

It was a Ram truck that had, like, the middle console that could come up. Okay.

02:23:59 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

Dodge Ram trucks.

02:24:02 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 3:

I'll never drive it again in my life.

02:24:04 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

That has been Six on Sex. Congratulations, winner. Now, did you guys fly to Florida or drive to Florida?

02:24:21 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

Kelly flew.

02:24:23 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Sue, what's the temperature?

02:24:26 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 3:

80.

02:24:27 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm talking about your temperature. What's your temperature right now?

02:24:30 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

My temperature, it hit a high, and now I'm cooling down.

02:24:38 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Text her here, 313, says, Good morning. I'm sorry, but I think that Kelly talking about her sex life while her mother is listening is very inappropriate. Double exclamation point. What if a parent is listening and has a young child or teenager in the car?

02:25:00 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, that's one of the reasons why we do this later on the show when hopefully there's younger people that aren't listening. Wait, hold on. Was this guy that sent it? It was a guy. I thought for sure. No offense, Jeff. I thought that was like an older woman that sent that text in.

02:25:19 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 6:

I know. I figured you would by the comment made. But you know what? Like, where do you draw the line? I actually know you. I used to work at Mario Max Salon.

02:25:29 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 4:

I used to go to Mario Max Katrina used to be at Mario Max

02:25:34 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 6:

Right, and I used to work there too

02:25:36 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 4:

Are you new to this show? Have you never heard this before?

02:25:41 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 6:

I have not I mean, I'm not a regular listener I just happen to be there And I guess I'm a little bit old school But I was just like, I wouldn't want my mom Listening in on my sex life To know the history of it

02:25:53 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 4:

But that's the whole point of the contest The whole point of the contest is that it's the suspense of would you be willing to answer these questions and would mom or dad be willing to listen? And if they don't want to, they have every right to not either enter the contest or mom can hang up the phone. Right. I mean, think about this. You go on the family feud, you don't even have that option. You're stuck with your family right there. Yeah, but are you talking about your sex life? Well, not necessarily, but you're right with that.

02:26:21 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Sometimes with Steve Harvey, you are. Seriously. Yeah, sometimes Steve

02:26:26 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 4:

Harvey does have the innuendo in the questions. Here's the deal, Jeff. Do this. Don't knock it until you try it. Let's get your family on the phone. Come on.

02:26:35 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 6:

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, Jeff. Come on. You don't understand. My mother goes to church four times a week. I am not.

02:26:43 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 1:

So does my dad, and I had to do it with him. Come on.

02:26:46 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. All right.

02:26:47 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 4:

If you want to be in this contest, text SEX to 95500. That's SEX to 95500. Jeff I always say this Not everything is for everybody And that's why of course I appreciate your texting And I wanted to actually acknowledge it Because I know there's other people like yourself That don't like this thing Wait a second Are you doing something I heard somebody in the background

02:27:13 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 5:

Where are you

02:27:14 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 6:

I'm at Lifetime Fitness right now

02:27:16 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 5:

Are you the guy on your phone While everybody's working out No I'm on the guy outside

02:27:23 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, okay. Thanks, Jeff. Thanks for the text and the call. All right, have a great day. Appreciate it. On. Six.

02:27:30 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 6:

Six. Six. Mojo. Mojo in the morning, six on six.

02:27:36 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning, dirty on the 30.

02:27:38 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with the dirty on the 30. What do you got trending, Shannon?

02:27:40 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, I want to start this dirty off with something positive since we've been talking about some pretty stuff, pretty tough stuff this morning with what happened in Nashville yesterday. This is from last night's iHeartRadio Music Awards that happened in L.A. Taylor Swift was there, of course, accepting several awards, including a big, big honor of the night, the Innovator Award. But listen to this part of her speech. I thought this was great.

02:28:02 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 1:

You know, they're shining a light on the choices I made that worked out, right? The ones that turned out to be good ideas. but i really really want everyone to know especially young people that the hundreds or thousands of dumb ideas that i've had are what led me to my good ideas you have to give yourself permission to fail i try as hard as i can not to fail because it's embarrassing but i do give myself permission to and you should too so go easy on yourselves and just make the right choices that feel right for you and someday someone might think that you've been innovative thank you so much for

02:28:51 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 2:

this that was great you can see a complete recap by the way on the dirty page and on all of our

02:28:56 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 4:

social media channels as well man i i'm gonna say this and i know it's gonna call out other people but the other companies the radio companies that are out there could not pull together what what was that last night i mean no offense but offense to i mean we run a great i heart radio the ability to be able to do that and get all these main you know big stars and broadcast it on a major network like we did for fox we gave them good ratings on a monday night um but uh i love what they're like

02:29:24 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 5:

harry styles done his tour he's kind of getting quiet but he's going to come back out for us for the award show taylor just started a major tour but she's going to fly in for the award show I love that.

02:29:35 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 2:

According to the guy who is suing Gwyneth Paltrow, moving on to this ski trial, she was the one that was flying down the ski slope in Utah several years ago and out of control when she slammed into the back of him.

02:29:47 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

I just remember everything was great, and then I heard something I've never heard at a ski resort, and that was a blood-curdling scream. Just, I can't do it.

02:30:00 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 6:

It was like somebody was out of control and going to hit a tree and was going to die. And then that's what I had until I was hit.

02:30:13 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 3:

That was part of Dr. Terry Sanderson's testimony. Gwyneth Peltro, by the way, the entire time just shaking her head. She was not buying that story at all. And again, she insists he got it backwards. It was actually him that crashed into her.

02:30:25 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 6:

You know, I got hit in my back so hard. and I'm right at my shoulder blades and it felt like, and it was perfectly centered and the fists and the poles were right there at the bottom of my shoulder blades. Serious, serious smack. Never been hit that hard and I'm flying. I'm absolutely flying. All I saw was a whole lot of snow. That was his scream again.

02:30:52 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 3:

So Gwen's ski instructor also took the stand to read the incident report that he had to take that day.

02:31:02 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 4:

Mel's skier took her out from behind. I didn't see it, but heard her scream as she went down. I skied directly to her. The man was behind her. Both were in discomfort. During lunch, she talked of being stiff and sore.

02:31:23 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, more recaps and updates for you tomorrow morning. Prince Harry making a surprise visit to London this morning. Spotted arriving at High Court to attend a hearing in his legal, his latest legal situation, I should say. He's taken legal action against the Home Office over, you know, this issue with security arrangements when he and his wife and children are in the UK. So that's what they're dealing with today. But here's the thing. Here's the big story here. I don't think he's going to see his dad, King Charles, while he's in town. Because even though the king got a heads up that his son was going to be in town, the king is reportedly busy.

02:31:59 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

02:32:00 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 3:

As are the prince and princess of Wales and their kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis. They're not in Windsor either because it's spring break. So that's legit. They're not in town.

02:32:10 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 5:

So Prince Charles is in town, but he says he's been, or King Charles.

02:32:13 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 3:

King Charles was supposed to leave town. I believe he was supposed to go to France, and that got pushed back a day. So he's there, from what I understand of this story. But very, very, very, very busy. An update to a story we talked about yesterday. Actor Jonathan Major, star of movies like Creed and The Wasp, Quantumania, was arraigned on several assault and harassment charges yesterday. Again, the story here is that his girlfriend claims he struck her in the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear. She also claims he put his hand on her neck, causing some bruising and more pain there. He was arrested Saturday in New York City in an alleged domestic dispute situation and charged with several counts of assault in the third degree, among a whole bunch of other things. His attorney is denying all of these claims, saying Jonathan is completely innocent. He is the victim of an altercation with this unnamed woman. Allegedly, there is video footage from the vehicle where this alleged incident took place. Some witness testimony from the driver and also some witnesses that did two written statements. So we'll see where all of that goes once those are released. And Tom Brady is back in the dating game from what we're hearing. He is dating around. Haven't heard any names yet. But just a reminder that before he got involved with Bridget Moynihan and Giselle, he was linked to American Pie and Sarkinado star Tara Reid and former Playboy playmate Layla Roberts. 02:33:51 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 5:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scan is next. It's time for an official government survey. It's Mojo in the Morning's Senseless Survey.

02:34:10 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, it's Bob Dabalina-Con from the U.S. Senseless Bureau, and I just have three questions in the survey. In an effort to encourage our youth, would you agree that kids can be anything they want when they grow up as long as it's not a DJ?

02:34:24 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 2:

I would just encourage them to stay in school and graduate.

02:34:30 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 1:

Did your last date night end with a bang?

02:34:31 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 2:

Um, I'm married. Oh, perfect. Every date night ends with a bang.

02:34:36 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 1:

If you're not supposed to abuse cough syrup, then why does it come with a little plastic shot glass?

02:34:41 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 2:

I believe if everyone measured their alcohol in the shot glass, we wouldn't have a problem.

02:34:47 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 1:

Is it still a walk of shame if you high-five a stranger?

02:34:51 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 2:

It depends on your location.

02:34:53 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

And when you buy a head of lettuce, do you ever wonder what they do with their bodies?

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm assuming it's in the ground.

02:35:01 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. And would you get a tattoo?

02:35:04 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:35:05 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 3:

How about a tat three?

02:35:07 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 5:

Negative.

02:35:07 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 3:

Would you take a free piano, no strings attached?

02:35:10 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 5:

No, I already have a baby grand.

02:35:12 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 3:

And when Jesus returns to Earth, do you think he will endorse the iPhone or the Android?

02:35:17 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 5:

Since I'm a Christian and I'm saved, I won't be here when he returns. And I think there are bigger issues than which he would endorse. I'm sure he'll endorse salvation.

02:35:24 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 3:

Salvation, I'm not familiar with that smartphone. Is that a Verizon phone?

02:35:28 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 5:

No, that's the grace of God.

02:35:31 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 3:

Amen.

02:35:31 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 5:

This is a lot longer than three questions.

02:35:34 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sorry. I just thought we had such a good rapport going. It didn't sound like you were too busy.

02:35:39 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm just so happy to hear someone speaking English.

02:35:41 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Why do protein bars always have to look like feces?

02:35:46 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Oh, man. I like that.

02:35:51 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:35:53 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 6:

It's kind of true, though.

02:35:54 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, she sounds like she's, I don't know. I think if you kept her going just a little bit more, Spike, you probably would have gotten her to.

02:36:02 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I would have been able to keep her going.

02:36:03 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so.

02:36:05 - 02:36:13 | Speaker 3:

Laugh all you want. We'll get to you eventually. It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:15 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVPS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:23 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:36:25 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Live. mojo in the morning show i'm like a worried about a close friend of ours our friend alabama who is from alabama in the morning you can uh hear her on the iHeartRadio app with uh DJ New Era well she got caught into a little risky dating move so without giving away too much of her uh her details so she's on like a break from a boyfriend isn't that right Alabama yes why are you worried well first off what happened to you the other day could have been horrible and I won't give away too much Because I want to slowly tell it to the listeners And have it be suspenseful to them But I am worried I am worried about you So Alabama was on Tinder Which by the way When you're on a break from a boyfriend Can you right away just go to Tinder Like isn't the break supposed to be You're supposed to clear your head

02:37:37 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 6:

Well it's like a palate cleanser Eating sushi And you gotta have ginger In between your sushi rolls Tinder is my ginger Oh, my God. Is he on Tinder, too? Do you know? Like, if your ex is on, or not ex, whatever he is. I'm not. But his friends have caught me already on there. Oh, okay.

02:37:56 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 1:

All right. So she calls me up the other day to tell me, you'll never believe what happened. I was on Tinder, and I matched with this dude. We ended up going out to meet, and he brought a third with him. Will you tell everybody who the third was that he brought on the date?

02:38:14 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 6:

He brought his wife.

02:38:16 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 2:

wow and he didn't he didn't put this out there in advance and give you a heads up and make sure

02:38:24 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 6:

you were game uh i mean if when we first met no and then as the conversation progressed he said oh and we were talking about his dog he goes by the way before this gets too far By my dog, I mean mine and my wife's dog.

02:38:42 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 4:

Wow. That's the way you're telling. Oh, my gosh.

02:38:45 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 1:

I sent you guys a picture, by the way, of what these guys look like. They're actually good-looking people.

02:38:50 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 4:

Is that the cute redhead?

02:38:52 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're both. He and she are both gingers, which is interesting because I thought to myself,

02:38:59 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 4:

Stupid red-haired freak.

02:39:01 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 1:

I found it interesting. I thought most people that want to actively search for threesomes are ugly people. But these people actually are good-looking people

02:39:09 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 6:

They were really hot And I like how he did it at first There was no pressure So I asked him when I said, oh, you and your wife So what's going on? Are you in an open relationship? And he was like, well He goes, we've met some of our best friends On this app and hung out with them If we all see each other naked, it happens But if not, we all hang out and we're friends

02:39:29 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so she goes And meets him and his wife

02:39:33 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 6:

You are so cool

02:39:34 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, this is where I'm worried about her. You went from a public place to where did you go?

02:39:42 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 6:

I went back to their house.

02:39:44 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, dear God. This is how a Netflix documentary starts.

02:39:49 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 6:

What did they say that made you go, all right, I'm going to go to their home? They just said, hey, you want to come back to our house? Oh, my.

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Bama, this is how people die and end up missing.

02:40:04 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so what did you guys do once you got there? But this is how I feel like it's safer if you go with a couple. If it were just one guy I was on a Tinder date, absolutely. No, not on a Tinder date. Then there's two people to chop you up. It happens faster. But it feels safer when there's another girl there. We hung out, and we just all sat and talked. And I think we all were kind of trying to figure out if we were going to make the move. and do the thing, and we all kind of whiffed out, and finally at 2 a.m., I was like, okay, guys, I got to go home now. This is getting late.

02:40:37 - 02:40:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait, did you guys kiss at all?

02:40:40 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 3:

No, but the husband slapped my butt when I was walking out.

02:40:44 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

Really? Did the wife look upset at all? Did she look worried?

02:40:49 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 3:

No, she was fine with it. And here's the other thing. So when I left, I was like, was it me? Should I have made the first move? Did I do something wrong? But they have sent me some Snapchat since Friday night, and it's definitely, like, I didn't do anything wrong.

02:41:08 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 2:

So this is going to, will this turn into an actual threesome where you guys will get together?

02:41:14 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 3:

Maybe. I don't know. We'll see. So the husband's going out of town. Here's the follow-up. You don't know this. The husband's going out of town this weekend, and one of her other girlfriends is spending the weekend with her. that's also somebody that they hang out with and sometimes get naked. And so she invited me to go out on girls' night this weekend. And so I'm like, well, what kind of hangout is this going to be?

02:41:36 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. God, this is so hot.

02:41:39 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 1:

It's getting crazier and crazier. Hot. Yeah, this is so hot. This is weird. This is unsettling.

02:41:44 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

All right, so this all started on Tinder off of just a match between Alabama and this guy who she didn't know was married, and now it turns out he's married looking for threesomes. Has that ever happened to any listeners? Have you ever found out that this was, like, the way for threesome couples to try to hook up with you? You did say something interesting to me that I found relatively, I don't know, interesting for our listeners to ponder. But you said that you had no problem flirting with him, but you had a hard time flirting with her because you're not used to flirting with girls.

02:42:21 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 3:

It's so hard. Like, I feel creepy flirting with the girl. And I relate to you guys now because it could go either way with us. Like, if a guy hits on us, we're like, oh, that's crazy or, oh, that's weird. And so it's so – I don't know how to hit on the girl.

02:42:37 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

So it's difficult for you. So you need some, I don't know, practice, flirting with girls. You should actually have your morning show partner, Ara, DJ New Ara, teach you how to flirt with girls because nobody flirts more than that son of a – True. You know what? True. He's still flirting with Shannon. I mean, yeah, he won't let it go.

02:42:56 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 5:

You know what? He gets an A for effort. He can teach the master class.

02:43:00 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 3:

If I let him teach me how to flirt, I'll never be able to flirt with girls. It'll go wrong every time.

02:43:06 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable. What would you guys do? So, like, let me ask, you know, the single ladies of the show here. Megan, what would you do if you were on Tinder trying to connect with a guy then found out that he brought his wife with and wanted to have a threesome.

02:43:27 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 4:

You're acting like this is a rare thing. It's way more common than you think.

02:43:30 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

It is? Yes. So, okay, so, but would you be taken back by that, that he lied to you and didn't tell you right off the bat?

02:43:37 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate when people put it in the bio or if it's, like, a picture. Like, Alabama, was it a picture of just him or of him and his wife in the profile?

02:43:47 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 3:

So there is a picture with another girl, a few photos in, but it could have been his sister or anybody like there was no description but i will give him this like as soon as he he said it pretty quick in the conversation and then put us all in a group text

02:44:02 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 4:

before we met up and i like that yeah i do like that but i like when the bio is like me and my wife are looking for and like just put it right out there right out the back right don't waste

02:44:10 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

your time exactly you get you get better candidates when you share that up front do you agree with

02:44:16 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 2:

alabama that it's less i'm gonna be murdered and talked about on a murder podcast uh when you go back home with the wife too and the and the husband than if you go with one this literally

02:44:28 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 4:

makes no sense and i am very aware of the fact that this does not make sense but i was picked up in a bar once to be a third and i felt that was way creepier than me being picked up online

02:44:38 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 5:

to be a third i was way more comfortable even if you weren't aware when you were online that

02:44:44 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

that's what the person was looking for no it was very clear online okay yeah see i feel like that's the difference well the couple in the bar were pretty clear too i wonder i wonder if it it's

02:44:57 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 3:

i guess it's just like dating one person like it's a Couples weird, like one person can be weird and you feel weird. But what I liked about them, like every time the guy would say something flirty, his wife had a great sense of humor and she would like shoot him down or make fun of him and be like, oh, nobody thinks that. And I think that's what made me feel more comfortable.

02:45:18 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Poor guy's getting put down. Why do you think he's looking for a three?

02:45:22 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 5:

Some guys are into that. Let some dudes think.

02:45:27 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 6:

Nana, what's going on?

02:45:29 - 02:45:30 | Unknown:

Hi, it's Nana.

02:45:30 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 6:

Or Nana. Oh, thank goodness.

02:45:32 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 1:

I thought my Nana was on the phone. She can't hear about the threesomes.

02:45:35 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 2:

No, the Japanese way, not the old lady way. But anyways, honestly, it is super duper common. Like almost all the dating websites, that's how most couples use. And I think I'd like to be kind of like, oh, wait, what? But honestly, if they were hot enough, I would be down.

02:45:54 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 6:

Really? Have you ever had that happen to you, though?

02:45:57 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 2:

No. No, I have asked, like, I have had couples message me and be like, are you down? And I was like, eh, no. Like, look at them, like, no, I'm good.

02:46:08 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 1:

But at least they're messaging you in advance, right? You don't want to be surprised by it.

02:46:13 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think it'd feel weird if they were surprised. But like I said, if they were hot enough, I'd be down.

02:46:18 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 6:

So, Nana, I just want you to know, or Nana. Was it Nana or Nana? I'm screwed up.

02:46:25 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 2:

Nana.

02:46:25 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 6:

Nana. Nana. you were spikes right by the way it does sound weird if I'm talking to a um I think that the the thing that's interesting is that they were good looking like I when I saw their pictures I'm like they're adorable Alabama go for it man these guys look like seriously like they look like this couple that you would see on a tv show

02:46:46 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 2:

they were good looking uh-huh so well then you know you don't like that emoji that's just like those eyeballs that you You used to be like, look, and you're like, okay, okay, I'm using that right now.

02:46:59 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 6:

That's it. Thanks for the call. We appreciate you so much. What's up, George?

02:47:04 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Mojo?

02:47:05 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 6:

Nothing.

02:47:05 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

My time corner, long time.

02:47:07 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 6:

Woo-hoo! Hey, say hello to our friend, Alabama.

02:47:11 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 4:

How you doing, Alabama? Hey, George. I'm good. How are you? I'm doing great. I think I'm fine.

02:47:18 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 6:

What else is going on? What are you calling for, George? What's up?

02:47:21 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 4:

Me and my wife We go out to the bar all the time I have a very hot wife My wife is messy and black So she's very attractive She's attracted a lot of attention And we bring girls home Probably two or three times a month

02:47:37 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 6:

Really? And you guys just randomly go out Saying hey let's go out on a Friday And bring somebody home Or does it just happen?

02:47:46 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 4:

It just happens naturally man Like I said my wife is very attractive She attracts, for some reason, women are attracted to her. And, you know, it ain't happening.

02:47:57 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, you said she's black, lesbian, and hot. Have any of the women just said, how about just the two of us go home and they try and close you out of the deal?

02:48:08 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it had happened before. You know, I'm not a jealous type. I don't have no problem with another woman. No, she's not another man. She's all right.

02:48:18 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:48:18 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 4:

Who makes the first move, you or your wife? I let the wife control that. I don't have no space on it. Whatever she's been, whatever she brings home. Because if I speak on somebody, I'm going to be in the dark house.

02:48:32 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, also, I don't know. I've never met your wife. But I'm going to say as a wild guess that she's better with words than you are.

02:48:39 - 02:48:40 | Speaker 4:

Pretty much.

02:48:42 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 6:

Wow, that's pretty wild. So this is actually a common occurrence that you do.

02:48:48 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yes, it is a relationship. Me and my wife have been together for 14 years. We've been together very nice. People are asking what bar. What bar are you at all the time doing this? They want to know. We go to different bars. Sometimes downtown Detroit. I live in southwest Detroit, a largely Hispanic area. So we go to a lot of Hispanic bars. Okay. All right.

02:49:12 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 6:

If you like Southern girls with an accent, I got one here for you. Her name is Alabama.

02:49:16 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 4:

Come on down. Oh, I love you, Alabama. I love you, Alabama.

02:49:22 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 6:

All right, buddy. We'll see you, George.

02:49:25 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you, Mojo.

02:49:26 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 6:

All right. Take care of yourself. Well, you be careful, Alabama. I'm telling you.

02:49:31 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to see you on Dateline, okay? I love Dateline, but not starring my friends.

02:49:37 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 3:

When it happens, do I need to call y'all and give you an update and be like, it happened? Yeah.

02:49:42 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. Give us an update. Seriously, I want to know about the girls' weekend. If anything happens, okay? All right. Thank you.

02:49:51 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 1:

Just FaceTime it live as it's happening. There you go.

02:49:54 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 6:

Love y'all. You want to hit some goals on your...

02:50:00 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 1:

your you know social media and stuff like that that's one way to get it right there uh all right it's mojo in the morning show mojo in the morning's top trending stories all right top trending stories of the day uh they released this morning the uh text message that was sent by the shooter um the the girl in the uh nashville uh school shooting this latest one that was yesterday it's unreal these things just keep on going just awful um released a text message basically calling out the fact that they were uh leaving this as like a suicide note that this was her way of leaving that so we got more details on that i'll play this clip from abc and

02:50:48 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 2:

we'll come back talk a little bit this morning newly released surveillance video showing the moments leading up to the deadly school shooting in Nashville. The shooter firing through a glass door, armed with two assault-type weapons and a pistol, seen here in pictures released by police. Once inside, authorities say Audrey Hale shot and killed six people, including three children.

02:51:10 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 5:

I was literally moved to tears to see this and the kids as they were being ushered out of the

02:51:18 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 2:

building. The young victims, nine years old. They're identified as Evelyn Dickhouse, Haley Scruggs, and William Kinney. The head of the school, Catherine Kuntz, was also killed, along with teacher Cynthia Peake and custodian Mike Hill. By the way, it's a sad, sad thing. You see

02:51:36 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 1:

the head of the school gets, you know, and these people that could kill the substitute teacher, maybe not have even shown up to work that day if they didn't have to substitute teach a class.

02:51:46 - 02:51:57 | Speaker 4:

And one of the little girls was the daughter of the pastor of the Presbyterian church that is affiliated with that school. Just need to embrace those that are grieving because we grieve with them.

02:51:58 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Police patrol cars outside the school were left riddled with bullet holes. Authorities say Hale fired at officers from a second story window. According to police, two officers ran toward the gunfire, shooting and killing Hale just 14 minutes after the first 911 call.

02:52:15 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 4:

There's multiple victims down inside the school. Shooter is down now as well.

02:52:20 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Authorities say they strongly believe Hale, described as a 28-year-old female who identifies as transgender, was a former student at the private Christian school. Overnight, police say they found more guns and evidence at Hale's home. A motive remains under investigation.

02:52:37 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 5:

There's some belief that there was some resentment for having to go to that school. Don't have all the details of that just yet.

02:52:43 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 1:

By the way, the text message that was sent was sent to the shooter's friend by the name of Avriana Patton, known as Aubrey, or I'm sorry, known as Avriana, from the shooter. And it said, so basically that post that I made here about you was basically a suicide note. I am planning to die today. This is not a joke. You'll probably hear about me on the news. This is my last goodbye. I love you. See you again in another life. Aubrey, and in parentheses, Aiden. And then she wrote back, the friend wrote back, you have so much more life to live. I pray God keeps you and covers you. And that was turned over to the police. When the news media was covering this out in front, and this is a, I do think that, you know, Obviously, guns is the issue here, but there's also an issue when it comes to news media. I feel like here's what ends up happening with these shootings. The news media inundates the town where it happens. They stay there for a couple of weeks, covering, covering, covering, covering, and then they move on, wait for the next one to go, and they just do it, and nothing ends up happening. And I think that, honestly, it ends up glamorizing almost the shooters and not actually remembering those that lost their life. Well, here is a woman who was in Nashville vacationing at the time. She was actually part of, do you remember the Highland Park shooting in Chicago area, Highland Park? There was a shooting that took place at a parade. Yeah, she and her daughter were right there in the middle of the shooting. And here's what she had to say as she's been an advocate right now for gun safety and for school safety.

02:54:33 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 2:

who survived the July 4th mass shooting in Highland Park, Illinois, made her voice heard

02:54:39 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

interrupting a news conference. Aren't you guys tired of covering this? Aren't you guys tired of being here and having to cover all of these mass shootings? I'm from Highland Park, Illinois. My son and I survived a mass shooting over the summer. I am in Tennessee on a family vacation with my son visiting my sister-in-law. I have been lobbying in D.C.

02:55:00 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 5:

Since we survived a mass shooting in July, I have met with over 130 lawmakers. How is this still happening? How are our children still dying, and why are we failing them?

02:55:14 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 2:

I'm sure there will be more that will come out today on that. Did you see this story that came out yesterday in the Detroit area about how a majority of the Burger Kings are closing down? 424 staff are going to lose their job at Detroit area Burger King locations, and 26 of the locations closing down. The store closers began on March the 17th and will continue through next month as the chain shuts down the doors of these stores for what they call unforeseen business circumstances.

02:55:53 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 1:

Are they all owned by the same franchisee, or is it a company? Are they corporate?

02:55:57 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 2:

In a letter to the State Department of Labor and Economics, they said that they failed to reach an agreement with the Burger King Corporation. Yeah, that's what it looks like. So, the... Yes?

02:56:10 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 5:

Do you think it has to do with updates? I know a lot of those franchisees have to update their buildings within X amount of years with different options. Maybe they just didn't have the profit to afford it.

02:56:20 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think that that's what it sounds like. It sounds like that maybe the chains were closed down because they weren't keeping up with what corporate wanted them to do. But that meant that majority of those people, those 400 and some odd people, are now unemployed. The closures affected a lot of stores in the area in Detroit, Dearborn Heights, Ecorse, Ferndale, Flint, Highland Park, Livonia, Royal Oaks, Southfield, Walled Lake, Warren, and Whitmore Lake. Here's the thing that I don't understand, though. If it is like one particular franchisee, which I read the story and it doesn't really sound like that they even know in the story that was on Click on Detroit. Why not just close down a couple of your locations just to try to see if you can salvage at least a couple of the stores that maybe were profitable?

02:57:06 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 5:

Unless they're done and this is an easy out.

02:57:09 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 2:

Are there, I mean, I will say this, that Whopper commercial is so good. It's maybe you want to.

02:57:15 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 5:

Now they have another one. That possible Whopper is genuinely so good. Is it really? I know. I kind of want to try it. So good. And BK kind of stepped it up, man. The past couple of years, they revamped everything. It's really good.

02:57:29 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. My Burger King might have closed down by my house.

02:57:32 - 02:57:33 | Speaker 5:

Those chicken fries.

02:57:33 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 2:

Now I got to drive a little further. One more time, Megan.

02:57:36 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 3:

One more time. Chicken fries.

02:57:38 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The creator of Avatar and Terminator, James Cameron, says that this AI thing is going to be taking over everything.

02:57:48 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 5:

He created it.

02:57:51 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 2:

James Cameron, whose technology has been the best in these movies and used AI technology to help it, says that this whole chat GPT and all these different AI technologies are actually not good and they're going to start manipulating. I don't know if you saw this, but did you see the Pope? Yes. The latest picture of the Pope? In the puffer jacket? Yeah, the Pope in a puffer jacket.

02:58:13 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was real at first.

02:58:15 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 2:

I'm like thinking to myself, that's wild. The Pope is walking around wearing a, I don't know.

02:58:20 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 3:

A long white puffer jacket.

02:58:21 - 02:58:30 | Speaker 2:

A North Face or something like that. And here's a story for you. Half of school and college students are already using chat GPT to cheat.

02:58:30 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 5:

It's not cheating.

02:58:32 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 2:

The experts say that many of them are getting away with it. 90% of them have been getting away with it. With a huge number of them using it for exams, including some people using it to take the American bar exam, the exam to become a lawyer. How? One particular college in Houston says that this technology could strike fear in all academics. I don't know.

02:59:00 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 5:

Who has access to chat GPT during the bar?

02:59:04 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, when you take the bar exam, do you have to get rid of all your stuff that's there? Yeah. You do?

02:59:10 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 4:

They're so strict about it. It's like the SATs. Like, you can't have anything.

02:59:14 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 1:

Is it scary if you use it to write all your papers through med school and you really don't have a full grasp on the medical?

02:59:20 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 4:

Do you think everybody who's writing those papers have a full grasp on the medical? They're just copying and rephrasing stuff they're reading in books.

02:59:26 - 02:59:40 | Speaker 2:

Here's a wild one. 75% of parents say that they think that chat GPT is okay for them because it helps their kids be able to get through classes that they don't think that they're going to be using later in life.

02:59:40 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

The difference in what Megan was saying is when you're copying something and plagiarizing, you're still reading it and rewriting it so it looks like your own work. You're still digesting some of that information. This is just plug it in a computer. Tell me to write this paper. Boom. It writes it. You don't even read it. You're not regurgitating info.

03:00:00 - 03:00:01 | Speaker 3:

So you're not digesting any of it

03:00:01 - 03:00:07 | Speaker 2:

So you're admitting that the professors aren't teaching anything in class And that kids have to learn everything on their own

03:00:07 - 03:00:18 | Speaker 3:

Well there are some professors like that But some classes it's up to you to teach yourself That's the sad truth of it But if you do chat GPT You're not reading anything You're just someone else The computer's writing everything

03:00:18 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys think that this could be a true story? This one was on TikTok and I saw it today A woman was planning a funeral for her estranged husband. They were going to get divorced. Did you hear this story?

03:00:32 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 1:

I did. I do not believe it for one second. You don't believe it? Uh-uh.

03:00:35 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so the story comes out that she's planning a funeral after she found out that the guy that she was going through a divorce with died. She ended up getting somebody that reached out to her from the family and said that he died. Here, I'll play the TikTok, so it's probably better than me explaining it. Hold on. Here, take a listen to this.

03:00:57 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 2:

Put a finger down if the Miami Dade Police Department

03:01:00 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh hold on stand here Hold on where is that What just happened Son of a gun Hold on What just happened My thing was just there just a second ago I always I have to figure out on my thing here On the computer How do I replay this thing

03:01:18 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 2:

Are you on TikTok No he's doing it from his computer I'm doing it Settings recently viewed For anybody who's on TikTok and you lose a video There's a recently viewed section under your settings Where you can go back in and see what you've missed

03:01:30 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 4:

It drives me crazy Hold on, I'm telling you What do you got? Got anything that they want to just say hi to anybody? While you're trying to hook it up

03:01:38 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 3:

I'll look it up and find out it was probably a hoax

03:01:40 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 4:

But it's a good story So she's going through a divorce With this guy And they're estranged And they're going through this thing And he's not around, he went traveling or whatever And very gullible People are saying

03:01:55 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 1:

And the husband responded to her on TikTok. Okay, now I'm invested.

03:02:00 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. It took me 12 hours just to get that one TikTok to play here on our thing. We'll figure it out. Maybe we'll come back with an update on it tomorrow. That does it for today. Did I tell you guys that never again are we field tripping on a Monday night? Because we are all exhausted. Everybody here is so exhausted. I mean, poor Mike didn't get home until after midnight last night. Worth it. It was fun. It really was fun.

03:02:25 - 03:02:27 | Speaker 3:

Does anyone know the final score of the game?

03:02:28 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, I don't, but I heard that the Bucs almost blew it at the end. They didn't have any of their stars playing. But Lydia, thank you for putting it together. Thank you to the Pistons for having us out there and giving us an opportunity to get a shout-out over the scoreboard. We will see you guys tomorrow. Have a great day. If you missed any portion of today's show, I wouldn't even go back and listen to it. It's not even worth it. It was probably just mediocre because we were all exhausted. No, it's good.
