Mojo on the Morning Show. Good morning. It is Thursday. It's War of the Roses Day. So, 7 o'clock this morning, we are going to do a War of the Roses where Guy thinks that his wife is cheating on him. She is a stay-at-home mom, and he has been noticing that there has been something going on at the house, and I'll let him explain everything to you when you hear it. And when he confronted his wife about it, she had a kind of valid explanation, but then he did a little bit more snooping and said, uh-uh, something ain't right. So we make a phone call coming up this morning. We'll do it just after 7 o'clock, and if you miss it, obviously we will podcast it for you, or you can come back and listen to the show. We'll always replay it later in the show, right around 9 o'clock or so. Phone scams coming up this morning, the Dirty, good prizes for you, Taylor Swift tickets this hour, Dierks Bentley tickets this hour, 5 at 6.55, and then Disney trips, 7.30 and 8.30, an opportunity for you to win. It's Mojo in the morning show. So you had to leave after we got done with some post-show stuff yesterday, Shannon, and you were going off to do a, how long was this thing?

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

It was like four and a half hours long.

00:05:01 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 2:

A four and a half hour. Was it a modeling gig?

00:05:05 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 1:

It was a photo shoot for a brand new client that iHeart has. The downtown Birmingham shopping district is the client. And it was actually really fun because you get to play dress up, you know, and get your hair and makeup done, which we never get. And it's for the town of Birmingham? It's for the town of Birmingham and all of their restaurants and shops and parks and different things like that. so they funny I knew I've known I've been you know this was on my calendar for a month or two now well a couple of weeks ago they said would your fiancee Wes be interested in doing it with you because we need a male model we figure we'll just throw him into the mix you guys will have natural chemistry which I always love so he did it with me yesterday I roped him into this four and a half hour long thing but he ended up having I hope a good time too so the very last place that we were um taking photos yesterday they we were at like a little coffee shop and they sat us at a table with coffees to answer some questions for social media okay first off let me go back and say I am not a model I am so uncomfortable and awkward when we have to take still photos to the point where somebody finally offered me a glass of champagne to loosen me up a little bit okay so that's where we were like we talk on the radio in a room where there's nobody else except for us so I kept having to explain this to them as they were like, do this, do this, no smile. I can't do no smile photos. That is just not me. I actually just laugh. It comes out quite the opposite. It's so bad. So fast forward to the end of the day. Wes and I are sitting there. We're answering these like interview questions for their social media. And sitting across from us was a table of these like really cute, I would say, group of friends maybe in their 20s. Okay. and they were very inquisitive about what we were doing because we had a whole bunch of people that were with us. And so the producer of this shoot explained what it was. Oh, they're doing a shoot for the downtown Birmingham shopping district and we've been going around town all day taking photos. She at one point gets up to go grab something and this group of friends turned their questions to Wes and I and they were like wait so you guys work for the magazine no do you work for the company that's putting on the shoot no we don't do you own this restaurant no they actually like recruited us to be the models for this thing you're the models yes yes we are um so you don't work for the company That's behind the photo shoot No, we don't How did they pick you? Did you win a contest? I'm like, look, this could not be anymore

00:07:51 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

They were a little judgy

00:07:53 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 1:

And it was I looked at Wes and I'm like, wow I feel really bad about myself How about you? It was so funny But ding, ding, ding It's those 20-somethings

00:08:06 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

Those rat bastard 20-somethings KP and Lydia

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah It was comical It was comical

00:08:16 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 2:

That is funny How do you do this and do the pictures Without doing what you do here in the studio Let me see the picture Can I see the picture

00:08:25 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

I didn't That's what scares me I don't get to pick I've realized

00:08:34 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

By the way that any posed photo That I'm in I look like I've got maybe something and, you know, going on in my life. Like, I look like people...

00:08:44 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Or that you have to poop really bad. That's what I feel I look like.

00:08:48 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Like, when I look at a photo of myself where we're posing, people look and they go, oh, that's mojo. Like, they give me the, oh, you know, what a good... Oh, like that. But if I do, like, one of those photos where they just catch me, like, that's why I always like to, like, hey, if you're gonna do a picture, like, get us just talking. Yes. You know what I mean? Yeah, I like that so much better. What are those pictures called? Candid. Is it a candid?

00:09:11 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

My brain was just blank for a second, but yes.

00:09:14 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

I like candid shots of myself better. I was looking at the photos from when we were at the Pistons game the other day, and the candid shot photos of just talking to the listeners that were there in the concourse area of Little Caesars, I'm like, wow, actually, I don't look so bad. When you take this photo, I got this look on my face like, what is that?

00:09:37 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

And imagine the photographer telling you, no smiles here. Just have like a, you know, just kind of have a serious... I cannot do a serious face to save the life of me. The only good thing on me is my smile. I got dimples. I was laughing so hard. I'm like, you can't tell me to do that. I feel like I'm taking a passport photo. It is not going to be good.

00:09:55 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 2:

I never like my smile in photos. So I'd rather just be, like you said, just talking. You can't. me talking. Actually, there's no way to photograph me without me being talking. You don't like your smile? No. Really? Well, it's because it's forced. If I'm trying to smile, it's not how. It's because you've got those pretty lips. I'm telling you, it's those lips that you've got. Yes, you've got those lips. You like my lips? You've got pretty lips. No, if you get me in a true laugh that I didn't know I was being photographed, then I like my smile. Because it's genuine. Yeah, if you try to laugh. Although I will tell you

00:10:24 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 1:

this, though. There are times where I've seen and I see it on Shannon's stuff, but I also see it on our old producer Ellen stuff where they do the laugh photo and I know that they weren't laughing really. Oh, but those are the photos I choose. They were fake laughs. Those are the photos I choose. That's a fake laugh. I know you're not laughing. But those are the best because

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

they're more candid than just like

00:10:45 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

a static smile. Well, that's the thing that you always end up doing

00:10:47 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 5:

is you do the laugh. I think they could tell that I was really nervous yesterday too because at one point the owner of one of the restaurants that we were taking photos and she came up to me and she's like, do you want a little glass of something? I'm like, I actually want a bottle of something at this point. That would help so much.

00:11:02 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Get me drunk. Although you get me drunk. And it did. You know what my problem is? My problem is with photos, and I don't know if anybody else has ever experienced this or known anybody experienced this. I have one eye that opens up a lot. You have a squinty eye. I do too. You have a squinty eye. And it looks like, honestly, I got something wrong with me. And so if I wear glasses, it hides it. If I don't have it, they go, hey, why is your eye? I look like, honestly, I look like a pirate. Maybe what I should do is I should put a patch right over it, and I'd be Johnny Depp in that photo.

00:11:36 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, you should have had them play your favorite soundtrack because that usually works. When someone tells me to change my body or be like, smile, I will look like I've got a big grin. Yeah, anything would have helped. Anything.

00:11:49 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, you did all those pageants, KP. I was the worst.

00:11:53 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 4:

I never won Photogenic because I like the in-person interaction, like you said with the candid stuff and you know talking with people the photo shoots were always the worst you say you're not photogenic no i'm not you are so there's a difference between being attractive and being photogenic oh well you're attractive but you're not photogenic you know some people know how to pose themselves other people look like a noodle and i look like a noodle i feel like i i pick the worst sides and i yeah i i honestly feel like it comes with confidence and so if they had played like your favorite soundtrack or you know song you would have gotten hype you know yeah and they shouldn't have mentioned the way you look they shouldn't

00:12:31 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

have been like oh yeah no they make you think about it oh my god when i hear people who are

00:12:36 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 1:

very photogenic like yourself kp say that they're not photogenic i look at myself and then say what am i right like i am like i am definitely not somebody that uh that that looks good in any

00:12:47 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

pictures well how about you cringe when you see my instagram i don't cringe at all megan i think you're gorgeous actually megan you're very photogenic yeah megan is stunning yeah yeah

00:12:57 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 1:

look at mom yeah me too sorry if nobody else is gonna say it no no you are yeah like kp said you are you are very photogenic you're very stunning but uh in real life in real person i mean yeah

00:13:11 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 3:

no no i agree 100 you're correct what's your trick you gotta film yourself people need to stop taking photos you have to film yourself i remember you saying that pull stills from whatever you have filmed yeah that's that's really good actually in high resolution put your camera as high as it can go film yourself for like two minutes pause the video scroll

00:13:32 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 2:

through it grab frames so i tried that because after i have the same one eye thing mojo says he has after saint patrick's day everybody's looking at my my radio spike instagram and they're like wow your one eye is drunk on St. Patrick's Day because it went just one it looks like I had a stroke like one side of my face is but so I tried the film thing and I realized oh no it's just always like that there's no chance to grab grab a shot that the one eye isn't closed

00:13:58 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 1:

more than the other but I will say this about the the filming thing when KP does grab a still for the still shot that's on our videos on our, you know, social media, I go, wow, that looks actually like a pretty good picture. You know what I mean? But it is kind of a candid still. Yeah. It's neat.

00:14:18 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

I try and catch you at your good moments. Oh, I know. I honestly feel like it's like getting a teenager out of bed to get Mojo to do anything social-wise. And I have just learned that you just got to make him laugh or smile and then quickly snap a picture and then leave.

00:14:31 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, I also noticed your new angle with him with video is you keep moving the camera further and further away from him. Yeah, what is that all about? I'm getting a sense.

00:14:39 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 4:

And I said to him yesterday, no offense, but your head looks kind of big. So I need to pull it back. And I'm like, I'm not saying that your head is big. See, I got to be honest.

00:14:47 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I positioned it back in the day when we first got these cameras. I positioned it there because I don't like, I like it to look like radio. I want the microphone right there. And I want it to be, I don't want to look glamorized.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 6:

and have it be television or movies or anything like that.

00:15:02 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, you perfectly positioned the microphone to cover your face. And I would love to see your pearly whites. I want to see what you're saying, and I can't see you.

00:15:10 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 5:

She's trying to find your best angle, and she's moved the camera 25 feet away.

00:15:14 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 6:

The problem is I still use the same promo picture from when I was, like, 35 years old. And so it's when I go out and meet listeners. They go, who are you?

00:15:28 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 3:

It's like a fisheye view.

00:15:30 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 6:

I'm Mojo's brother.

00:15:32 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 5:

Right now, let's get the first dirty of the morning in with Shannon.

00:18:41 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 1:

The Nashville school shooters manifesto will be released to the public after the FBI's team of criminal profilers analyze it. Has this ever happened before? Have we ever gotten to actually read the content of something like this we have?

00:18:54 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:18:54 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I didn't know if this was the first.

00:18:55 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 6:

I think Columbine was the first one where they read it off.

00:18:59 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 1:

So the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit is working with the Nashville Police Department to complete an in-depth analysis of certain aspects of the shooter's life. And, of course, this letter obviously very much a part of that. Police say the shooter did review two other possible schools, both public schools, as potential targets for her attack before deciding there was just too much security at those public schools to do what she was set out to do. Sources say she probably chose that private Christian school, one, because she was a former student there, but also because the security was a whole lot less. Tory Lanez has filed an appeal three months after he was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion. His lawyer, Jose Baez, claims his client's conviction should be thrown out because of irreverent evidence that was presented in the trial. I had to pause there. I didn't know if I said that word wrong. You did. It sounded very good. Irrevalent? Yeah. Anyway, so he claims that a shirtless photo of Tory Lanez holding up a gun to his chest was used to essentially...

00:20:00 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 2:

fool or like brainwashed the jury into thinking his client had this fondness, this affinity for weapons. Jose Baez also believes it was wrong for the jury to have heard an 80-minute interview prosecutors had with Megan's former BFF, Kelsey Harris, who was in the vehicle with both Megan and Tori the night of the shooting. That interview, he says, was hurtful to Tori's case, Even though that friend later recanted most of what she said Taylor Swift made a 7 year old fan's dreams come true After her show in Vegas this week This is the little girl's mom talking about it

00:20:37 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hold on, I gotta get the little girl's mom in here I screwed that up What was it labeled as?

00:20:41 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 2:

Taylor 1 and Taylor 2

00:20:42 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, how appropriate is that? Taylor 1, Taylor 2

00:20:44 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 1:

So she brought the letter And as soon as we got into the stadium There was a guy standing there And he had a suit on Probably just an usher She says, hey, I have this letter for Taylor. Can you make sure it gets to her? And he kind of chuckled and he looked at me and we just smiled. And he says, I'll see what I could do. And he said, I'll try really hard. So she was happy with that. And I figured that was the last we were going to hear about this letter.

00:21:09 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so little Bella, that's the seven-year-old's name, had written her seat number on the back of the letter that she handed over, hoping to get to Taylor.

00:21:16 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 1:

We were about halfway through the show when some people came to our seats and they were asking for Bella. I says, that's my daughter. What's going on? And they says, well, we wanted to give this to you. And it was the letter that Bella gave to Taylor and she signed it. Dear Taylor, I'm your biggest fan. My favorite Taylor's purple. And then they filmed my daughter getting the letter back because they wanted to pass it back to Taylor. They said, just amazing that she took the time to do that in her crazy busy night.

00:21:50 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if she'll make it to that documentary thing that they're filming, too.

00:21:53 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, if they took a video of it, they're using it for something.

00:21:56 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 5:

From what I hear, Taylor does a lot of stuff like this. During the show? Well, in general, when she meets fans, she'll go above and beyond to make it super personal, and she'll remember. I was talking to Tony Travato, and he told me that she remembers everything about him. She does research before she meets the record reps.

00:22:14 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, Spike, you witnessed this and experienced that with your daughters, right?

00:22:16 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, going way back to 2015 or 2017, after I took my daughters backstage, not only did she sit there for 20 minutes and try and teach Natalie some guitar chords, but then she sent a thank you note to our home thanking the girls for visiting her backstage. I mean, hello. And I'm not an influence decision maker in the music business. Like, that was just a kind thing.

00:22:39 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 4:

By the way, it's amazing that there are people that don't like Taylor Swift. I just don't understand that.

00:22:43 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 2:

Seriously. They must not have a heart. Congratulations to Jonah Hill and his girlfriend, Olivia Miller. They are expecting their first baby together. Olivia also recently spotted wearing what looks to me like an engagement ring. So maybe a wedding in there as well. And last night on The Masked Singer. The Masked Singer? Okay, so I haven't been giving you guys updates weekly because the stars I've been like, who, who, who. Oh, the whole time they've been who. So I'll skip it. No, I mean, sometimes you know who it is. They're just not quote-unquote stars in the present. So two celebrities were unmasked last night. One was selling Sunset star Christine Quinn. The other was the Moose, who actually did a Huey Lewis in the new song.

00:23:30 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 6:

Don't need money.

00:23:31 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 2:

00:24:29 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 4:

So we've got that in a moment. Right now, we're going to phone scam Jason. So Jason owns a pest control company that does a lot of critter removal. And what they'll do is if they hear that there's something, you know, like bats or squirrels or whatever it might be in your house, They'll, you know, capture it and then take it away. Well, Spike called him up for a phone scam. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:24:56 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning. Your home of the world.

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Famous phone scams.

00:25:04 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 3:

Control, how can I help? Hi, is this Mr. Jason?

00:25:09 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 5:

This is Jason. How are you?

00:25:12 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. Well, I used the Googles, and I saw your website. You're the pest removal guy?

00:25:17 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 5:

That is I, yes.

00:25:18 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 3:

Hi, this is Christoph with a K, and I'm looking at your site on the worldwide Internet. So it says here you get rid of skunks?

00:25:28 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:25:29 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 3:

And you remove raccoons?

00:25:32 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 5:

I do. Do you have a raccoon problem?

00:25:33 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 3:

And you get rid of squirrels, too, huh?

00:25:37 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 5:

All sorts of wildlife. We handle it.

00:25:39 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

All right. And it says here on your websites that you can also remove mice and moles.

00:25:45 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:25:45 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 3:

And you specialize in bats. Congratulations.

00:25:50 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

Which of those do you think you might have a problem with?

00:25:53 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, okay, so I'm up on the Stairmaster watching Judge Judy like I always do first thing in the morning. And when all of a sudden I hear the scratching. And let me tell you something, Mr. Jason, this scratching is loud and bothersome and it's not going away. And it's only getting louder. So I figure out that it's coming from the ceiling above our gift wrapping room. And so I peek my head up into the crawl space and heavens to Betsy, there he is. I'm nose-to-nose with the little bugger, and I can just beat him with a spatula.

00:26:25 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 5:

Well, what was the spatula?

00:26:27 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, let me just tell you, because this is where it gets crazy. So I go down to the kitchen, because, you know, I know Bradley just gone shopping, and Bradley loves nuts. He can't keep his hands off my nuts. So I grab the nuts from the cupboard to take upstairs, you know, and see if I could bait this little critter to leave my house. You know, sometimes you feel like a nut. So, well, that was a rookie move because the second I opened the door to the crawl space, this beast must have smelled my nuts. And he comes jumping down to our house. So now Bradley and I are chasing it around with a broom and a plunger. But I think he ran under a bed and he's hiding. So I need you to come to our house, Mr. Jason, and rid us of this little Tasmanian devil.

00:27:12 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 5:

What was it?

00:27:14 - 00:27:24 | Speaker 3:

A hedgehog. Can you remove it? Are you a party to this? uh a hedgehog those i don't think it's a hedgehog well you haven't seen it yet so how do you know

00:30:10 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 2:

That is it.

00:30:10 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Greg?

00:30:12 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, not too much. I'm hoping for the same outcome as yesterday, but I don't want to be too arrogant.

00:30:18 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, yesterday you were pretty in your face. I loved it, though. Yeah, well. Tell us a little bit about yourself. We didn't get a chance to really meet you yesterday.

00:30:27 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 2:

I work for an automotive company in the IT department, an IT guy, computers all day, every day. And where are you from?

00:30:35 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 1:

Oxford.

00:30:37 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 1:

Nice to have you on. Thanks for being with us. We have Sydney as your challenger today. Sydney, where are you from? I'm from Holland, Ohio. Nice. Nice to have you listening to us. Say hello to Greg. Hi, Greg.

00:30:50 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning and good luck.

00:30:52 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 1:

Wow, he's so much nicer than he was yesterday. This is amazing, Greg. Somebody had a talking with you, didn't they?

00:30:57 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:30:58 - 00:30:58 | Unknown:

00:30:59 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 2:

Who gave you grief? Lydia. Oh, Lydia. I loved his. I'm just kidding. Lydia's been excellent. I'm just kidding. Okay.

00:31:07 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 1:

I thought that in-your-face attitude was kind of fun yesterday. Let's see what happens here today. I'm locking you up in a soundproof area. You will not hear from Greg until after I ask the questions to Sydney. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Sydney, question number one. This long-running HBO comedy series starring Larry David is rumored to be ending after its 12th season. Three seconds. I'm going to have to pass. I don't know. Okay. Question number two. Jonah Hill and his girlfriend are expecting their first baby together. Which of these movies did Jonah Hill not star in? Okay. A, The Hangover. B, The Lego Movie. Or C, Moneyball.

00:31:54 - 00:31:55 | Speaker 2:

The Hangover.

00:31:55 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. The previews are out for Diane Sawyer's interview with this actor following his scary snowplow accident that left him with a long list of injuries. I'm going to have to pass. I don't know. Wow, wow, wowee, wowee. All right, just two more questions left. Come on. Question number four. Jennifer Aniston is calling out her Murder Mystery 2 co-star Adam Sandler for dressing like a slob. What was Jennifer's character's name on Friends? Rachel. And question number five. Katy Perry says she's five weeks sober after making a pact with her fiancé. What's his name? Orlando Bloom. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. You're going to be so mad at me for doing this, but I got to get the drop ready for you, Sydney.

00:32:47 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

Sydney got three out of five.

00:32:49 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she got three?

00:32:50 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:32:50 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she did. Wait, no. Oh, okay. All right, she did. Wow, I thought she missed a bunch of these ones. Mojo was anxious to call you a dummy. I was anxious to call you a dummy. I'm sorry about that, but I'm not going to. I'll save that drop. You don't get that. Greg, you've got to be three out of five. Here we go. All right. Question number one. This long-running HBO comedy series starring Larry David is rumored to be ending after its 12th season. Enthusiasm. Say that again. Your phone got crappy.

00:33:21 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. It's always crappy. Curb Your Enthusiasm.

00:33:24 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you're right.

00:33:25 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 2:

Scores one to nothing.

00:33:26 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 1:

Question number two. Jonah Hill and his girlfriend are expecting their first baby together. Which of these movies did Jonah Hill not star in? A, The Hangover, B, The Lego Movie, or C, Moneyball?

00:33:42 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 2:

I believe it's A.

00:33:43 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

Yes, The Hangover.

00:33:45 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 2:

Two to one.

00:33:45 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. The previews are out for Diane Sawyer's interview with this actor following his scary snowplow accident that left him with a long list of injuries?

00:33:57 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 2:

Jeremy Renner?

00:33:58 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Three to one. Do we have preview clips of that?

00:34:01 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 2:

I sure do.

00:34:02 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know that Diane Sawyer still does interviews.

00:34:04 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 2:

Every once in a while, they throw her in the mix.

00:34:06 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 1:

That's an interesting, that's a good get for her. Question number four. Jennifer Aniston is calling out Murder Mystery 2 co-star Adam Sandler for dressing like a slob. What's the name of Jennifer's character on Friends? Rachel. Yes. Four to two. And a perfect score if you get this one right. Katy Perry says that she's five weeks sober after making a pact with her fiancé. What's his name?

00:34:32 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's the Lord of the Rings guy. Three seconds.

00:34:38 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 1:

I can't remember. Orlando Bloom. Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. Final score, four to three. Congratulations to you, man. Two in a row.

00:34:48 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

It's going to drive you crazy all day, isn't it? Yeah. So I just want to say that I tried, you know, the first time was the arrogant route. Today was the nicer route.

00:35:00 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 4:

I think I'm going to go back to the air. I like that. Yeah, we like that.

00:35:03 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 1:

00:35:20 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I think I'm going to challenge my ex-wife, actually. No, no.

00:35:23 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm not saying specifics. I'm saying be arrogant challenging somebody. But your ex-wife would be interesting. That would be really interesting You and your ex-wife playing each other

00:35:32 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there might be some extracurriculars Going back and forth over the airway But it might still be okay

00:35:38 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 1:

Alright, text 95500 I want to play We have a partying gift for you, Sydney We're going to set you up with advanced passes To go see the movie Air Hang on the phone for just one second

00:35:50 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning, 5 at 655

00:35:52 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 1:

00:36:28 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it Ow, I'm sorry It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning

00:36:35 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 1:

So James, you think that Your wife Who is a stay-at-home mom Is cheating on you?

00:36:43 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so You know, when I'm at work I keep seeing Just someone I don't know Like popping up On our ring doorbell And And it's too far away to really make out who it is, but when I asked her who she said it is, she keeps saying it's like her Instacart or DoorDash order is showing up. But there's no charges for Instacart or DoorDash. So basically a stranger's coming up to my door that I do not recognize.

00:37:14 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

So if you don't see any charges ever for that, you're wondering how the heck is she paying for this stuff that this is going on. Well, do you think she might have a secret credit card or something like that? Or is that a possibility?

00:37:28 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I guess so. But, like, you can't pay cash for those things. Right. It's one of those two things.

00:37:34 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 1:

So you think it's more of a possibility that it's not her telling you the truth? Yeah.

00:37:41 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 2:

And you said you can't really tell because it's kind of far away. But can you tell if it's the same person, like the same stature?

00:37:47 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 4:

It seems like it, yeah. Okay. I mean, yeah.

00:37:52 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:37:52 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to see what happens when we call her up for War of the Roses. Stay on the phone and mute it, okay?

00:38:01 - 00:38:01 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:38:02 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 1:

We are hoping that she sends flowers to James. It's the Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:38:21 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:38:26 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hello? Hi. Is this Bethany? Yeah. Hi, Bethany. My name's Nicole, and I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you. And I'm just wondering if you have maybe 30 seconds to take a short two-question survey for me, and we're going to give you some free flowers to send out today. Literally two questions.

00:38:51 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 4:

Um, can, can I just have the flower sent to myself?

00:38:55 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 2:

So we're actually, there's a little bit of a twist here. Um, rosesbloom.com, we believe that men deserve flowers as well. And in fact, in a recent survey, we found that 67% of men would actually enjoy getting flowers delivered to them. So we're hoping that there is a, a male in your life that you would want to send this arrangement to.

00:39:15 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 4:

um sure i can send it to my husband okay um okay let me ask you the two quick questions first have

00:39:26 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 2:

you purchased flowers in the last six months bethany no okay and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months no okay um as a thank you for participating in the survey like i said our business name is rosesbloom.com and i just need to get some info from you about who these are going to we can send them out today by the way and I know you said your husband what is

00:39:48 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 4:

his first and last name uh his first name is James okay and same last name as you which I have right

00:39:56 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

here okay and Bethany we also

00:40:00 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 5:

offer something unique. We offer a, um, called a digital voice greeting where you can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered. Did you want to do something like that? Um, yeah. Okay. So I'm going to count you down and you just leave something short and sweet for your husband. Okay. Okay. Here we go. Three, two, one. Here's a little something to brighten your day. Perfect. And I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Sure. Great. Bethany, I'm going to jump on and

00:40:42 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 1:

get more information from you. Like I'm going to try to get the phone number to send the prize to your husband but i also have to inform you of something before we uh do that while we have been talking to you your husband james has been listening in and he heard every word that you just said which i'm sure he's very happy about this is the mojo in the morning show and we were doing The War of the Roses to see where you would send a dozen free roses. Really? Yes, and your lovely husband just wanted to see if he was top of mind with you.

00:41:29 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:41:34 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Bethany, are you a little surprised by this, or is that why you kind of have that...

00:41:39 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't understand why A, I'd be getting three roses, but why he would be part of that?

00:41:46 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

It's just that little thing that we do. And he was wanting to know who you would send him to because he said that he was a little suspicious that there possibly could be another person in your life. James, do you want to say anything? Do you want to tell her why?

00:42:11 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 4:

yeah we talked about this but the uh the thing with the ring camera you know who keeps coming up to the house then there's no door dash charges or anything so what's going on there i'm grateful you sent me the flowers but

00:42:26 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 2:

you understand what he's saying bethany

00:42:30 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 1:

bethany I don't know if her phone got I have no idea

00:42:47 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 5:

Bethany

00:42:49 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 1:

Bethany

00:42:55 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 5:

I didn't hear it click

00:42:57 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 1:

I didn't hear it click either Now it clicked Did she hang up I mean, there's ways to think about this hang-up. Is this hang-up because she's embarrassed over the fact that you did this and she's on the radio, or is she embarrassed over the fact that... There's more to the story. There's more to the story. Right.

00:43:20 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, they're going to have a huge fight for an overstep or a huge fight for maybe I was actually right, and she just...

00:43:31 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 2:

Now I forget because it's been 10 minutes. Did you say it's always the same delivery person, or you can't really see who it is?

00:43:37 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 4:

The camera's too far away, so they look like the same person, stature-wise, but I can't make out a face. I don't have any kind of weird facial hair or anything to really set it apart.

00:43:50 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 1:

Let's try to get her back on the phone, and then let's ask the listeners their thoughts on this and see what their feelings are of whether or not there's something else going on. Hang on the phone, James. Okay.

This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:44:24 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. what you were just listening to with war of the roses a husband by the name of james suspecting that his wife who is a stay-at-home mom is cheating because of something that he's been seeing on their their cameras that they have there it's been seeing somebody that has been come into the house and uh she said that it was doordash or instacart that was coming back

00:45:00 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 5:

and forth and there's no sign of any kind of charges that are coming to the house which actually uh interesting some people have been commenting about that and i guess and i i don't know how this works but i guess that uh there's ways that you don't have to pay with uh with a card but i don't know uh comments from listeners you got a chance to hear this uh she did send the flowers to him but then she got angry when uh or not got angry but got shy and hung up the phone when uh he explained what he was doing uh we've been trying to call back cassandra i'm gonna go with you and we'll hopefully be able to get her back on and bring james back on with us but i want to have you give a comment until that happens what's going on hi good morning good

00:45:49 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 3:

morning morning i was just wondering so if he sees this person show up how long does this person stay

00:45:58 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 5:

does he see them leave too like how long i asked that question before we did the thing so he can see that there's somebody there at the house but he can't see their the person's not obviously coming in through the front door coming in through the garage or something like that or going somewhere else i don't know he doesn't see them come up to the door because i asked that question about that and okay yeah because i said your camera's that bad that you can't even see because like i have a camera on my door my i have the ring uh doorbell and you can pretty much make out who the heck it is unless the person's you know covering themselves up so right but um but i don't know So your thought is, look and see what's going on.

00:46:46 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 6:

Like if he's there for two minutes, actually dropping something off, or if he's staying for an hour. Right. That's very telltale.

00:46:53 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

So if you can see him walk up at least, you know he's coming to the door. Right. How do you not see him leaving?

00:46:58 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 6:

Right. Yeah. Unless he's leaving somewhere else. I don't know. I mean, people have so many theories. Other people are saying, oh, maybe she's having something delivered that she doesn't want, that she's embarrassed about. Like, maybe it's edibles. And that's why she's not coming clean. She just doesn't want to tell him. I don't know.

00:47:13 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 5:

You know, we talk all the time about people cheating with their coworkers. That's a big deal on the show, coworker cheating. This is a stay-at-home mom. And first off, I don't know how you have time to cheat when you're taking care of kids, but their kids are a little bit older. So she does send them off to school. And I wonder if there are any people that have ever busted a stay-at-home mom cheating or found out that a stay-at-home dad, who knows, was cheating. What's going on, Lalo?

00:47:47 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, yes. How you doing? Good morning. I'm a loyal listener.

00:47:52 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Lalo.

00:47:53 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 2:

I love listening, especially War of the Roses. but no i think she's guilty because if you go back and listen to the call when y'all were talking to her her energy was uppity she's happy and as soon as he clicks on and starts bringing up the oh yeah we talked about this but there's no charges for the door dash or whatever or whatever and then soon as he brought that up it was dead silent yeah Good point.

00:48:24 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 5:

Remember that call on that one War of the Roses that we had where the wife got on the phone with the husband? It was completely different sounding than that.

00:48:32 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 2:

As soon as you just mentioned about the camera, they're not walking directly up to the door. If it's a door dash or anything, they're going to bring it straight to the camera. That's another great point. They want to approve of the delivery. So why he's walking up to the garage, Well, duh, because they know there's a camera

00:48:53 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 4:

And now

00:48:55 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 2:

She ain't even answering y'all back Come on now Two plus two is always four No matter what country we're in Thank you, buddy I'm a very firm believer And 85% of communication Is non-verbal And as soon as she heard his voice She knew she was busted

00:49:16 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 5:

You're the man, I appreciate your call

00:49:17 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, y'all, love y'all

00:49:20 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it. That's Lalo. We've got to get him to call more often. What's up, dude? Andy.

00:49:26 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. Hey, you know, at first I kind of thought she kind of knew who was calling. I was wondering if James knew if she listens to Mojo in the morning. And another quick question for James was he ever had any bags in his hands?

00:49:44 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Bags of food? They're talking to him right now off the air. Ask that question to him. he's seen something but he doesn't their their camera first off their cameras he uh he told us we're kind of like the we're fuzzy they need new cameras

00:50:00 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 1:

They've got better cameras Oh they So the person did look She said that the person did look like they were coming with something But didn't look like it was much What's up Amanda

00:50:11 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 3:

How you doing

00:50:13 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 1:

Good

00:50:14 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 3:

First time caller finally Hi Amanda Love it Welcome I'm actually My comment is going with the gentleman That you just spoke to I believe she's guilty because, like he had said, her energy switched up as soon as he got on that phone, and she hung up way too fast. I'm sorry. If you're not guilty and you've got your husband on the phone, you're going to try to make him feel better about that situation that he's trying to find out what's going on. And I'm sorry. I'm a door dasher. I'm here to tell you we bring it straight to the door.

00:50:58 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 7:

What about the people

00:51:01 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 5:

That are ashamed that their neighbors See how often they door dash And they ask for it to be put at a different door So it's not obvious Are we speaking from personal?

00:51:09 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 3:

I don't know With COVID I get that as an issue Because there's still a lot of people out here That are afraid to leave their home So honestly With that I don't look at that You know, I mean, I get a lot of the same people every day because I dash from nine in the morning to nine at night. So I get a lot of the same people every day. And, yeah, there's usually instructions like leave it my garage door, bring it to my door.

00:51:43 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so they do actually have it delivered to another part of the house, though.

00:51:48 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 3:

I do.

00:51:48 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 1:

Bring it in the backyard during the summertime, probably.

00:51:51 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 2:

If they tell you to.

00:51:52 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 3:

They can if there is instruction.

00:51:54 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 1:

So she would be able to show that

00:51:57 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say

00:51:58 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 1:

Show them the app Come inside and take your clothes off Has that ever been on Any of your instructions

00:52:07 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 6:

Honestly if you are a delivery driver And that's on there Please call us Or anything funky like that

00:52:14 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 1:

And I'm putting that in my notes on the door dash To see if somebody actually does the delivery

00:52:18 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 6:

Someone's going to call the police on you

00:52:19 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 1:

They're going to ban you from the app Let's have a delivery sent to us here at the radio station and we ask them to take their shoes, socks, and clothes off. What's going on, Sam?

00:52:29 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah, good morning.

00:52:31 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:52:32 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 5:

So I am a very private person, so if my husband called me on War of the Roses on the radio, I probably wouldn't want to talk either. I think she was just thrown off. She was surprised, and she had already explained herself, you know, in real life. So I don't know. I probably would have not answered any of the questions either.

00:52:48 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 1:

Benefit of the doubt. All right, Carrie, what are your thoughts? Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses.

00:52:52 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I was just thinking when she first started off the conversation, she just said she wanted the flowers for herself. So then she sent them to her husband, so she was going to get them anyway. I don't even think she stopped to think about, like, sending them to someone else. I think she just wanted the flowers and sent them to her.

00:53:13 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she definitely didn't, to me, come across as somebody that she had a guy other than her husband on the top of her mind. She definitely didn't want to do the roses Sending to anybody But what's up, Sarah?

00:53:25 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo Now, I think a little bit differently than everyone else I think her entire energy changed When you came on the phone Right when you said something about Like, I'm going to get more information She got very sarcastic Oh, yeah? Are you going to get more information? And then you kept talking And it was a lot of, oh, really? Like, I think she knew the entire time What was going on

00:53:48 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 2:

Man, I was sitting right here for the whole call, and now I already can't wait for the replay to hear it again because I feel like, did I miss some things?

00:53:55 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 1:

Listen to the podcast, listen to the replay. That's amazing. I'm telling you, the text messages are interesting.

00:54:02 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 2:

They're all over the place.

00:54:03 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all over the place. And then people talking about texters texting into us. We might have to do this in a bit because we're running short of time right now. But we should ask the questions of stay at home moms and the opportunities that they have if they're home all day, you know, somebody coming in or cheating or whatever the deal is, because we always, you know, make it look like the women who work are the cheaters because they're in the office working and cheating with people that they're working with. But it's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. Join the mornings dirty on the 30. With the Disney trips, we've got to say a special shout-out. Thank you to Zot, Ford, and Holly and our good friends over there, Todd and Steve, that provided for us these gift cards. You can go check them out at dealsinthedeed.com.

00:55:00 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 4:

got in this hour's Dirty on the 30. Hundreds of people gathered at a candlelight vigil last night to honor the lives lost in Monday's shooting at that private Nashville elementary school singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow among them.

00:55:11 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Come to me now, lay your hands over me.

00:55:22 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 2:

Singer Sheryl Crow, First Lady Joe Biden, and city leaders among those attending. Just two days ago was our city's worst day. I so wish we did not need to be here. We're learning more about the victims, Evelyn Dickhouse, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all nine years old. Overnight, Dickhouse's family releasing this picture of Evelyn saying they're overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.

00:55:47 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 4:

Various speakers took turns reading aloud the names of the victims, expressing condolences to the grieving families. The Nashville PD says they still have not been able to determine a motive just yet. Raquel Levis' temporary restraining order against her Vanderpump Rules co-star Sheena Shea has been officially dismissed. Raquel was no show for court yesterday for a hearing on the restraining order. So the judge made the decision to just drop it. Sheena was there ready to tell her side of the story, but no Raquel. Now, if you remember us talking about it in the Dirty, Raquel got the temporary restraining order about three weeks ago, claiming that Sheena had attacked her as soon as she found out that Tom Sandoval was cheating on Ariana Maddox with Raquel. Sheena's camp has maintained that she never really attacked Raquel in New York City and called her out saying this was all just a PR stunt to deflect attention from Raquel and Tom's affair. O.J. Simpson is siding with Gwyneth Paltrow in her ski crash case.

00:56:47 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is the best. That's happening right now in Utah.

00:56:51 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 2:

I was wondering, what would he feel about this?

00:56:53 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 3:

He needs to be a court analyst for one of the networks.

00:56:56 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 4:

Yes, well, he revealed that he also had a skiing wipeout on the same run at the Deer Valley Resort.

00:57:04 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 3:

But he didn't bring his knife that he killed his wife with on that thing, thank God.

00:57:08 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 1:

I could see this person on my right making this big sweeping turn, and I said, oh, there's no way this person is going to come in front of me, and bam, we hit again. Turns out it's the same girl, and we weren't as congenial this time. It's Deer Valley, but accidents happen skiing. I don't know how you can try to sue anybody for crashes on a ski slope. You see it all the time.

00:57:39 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 3:

It's like a parody from SNL, isn't it? Yeah, it really is. I want him commentating like at a basketball game during the actual court case where he just pops up in the middle of the court case. Could you imagine if you bumped into him on a ski slope and you're like, oh, my God, the murdering O.J. Simpson?

00:57:56 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 4:

Then the Detroit Lions are bringing back wide receiver Marvin Jones. He announced via his Twitter yesterday.

00:58:04 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

What is he like 80 years old now? Is he is he good still?

00:58:11 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 4:

I think he's not that old at all. How old is he? He just turned 33.

00:58:15 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but that's still old for a wide receiver. Do we really need Marvin Jones?

00:58:20 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 4:

You literally will talk about how Tom Brady is still young and has it. And then 33. You're like, he's old. But a wide receiver, though. He was here in Detroit for five seasons, 2016 to 2020. NFL Network's Mike Garofalo reporting the deal is for one year, base salary of $3 million, incentives that could push him toward the $5 million mark. Marvin Jones, by the way, third on Detroit's all-time touchdown reception list behind only Megatron and Herman Moore.

00:58:45 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 3:

Why don't we bring back Megatron? I'd rather have Megatron back. I bet his legs are still good. Or Nate Burleson. Maybe Nate Burleson will come back, Mike. Yeah, Jerry Rice. We'll bring Jerry Rice. Yeah, Jerry Rice, exactly. Bring back a Hall of Famer.

00:58:58 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Jennifer Aniston doing interviews on the red carpet for her new movie, Murder Mystery 2, which she co-stars in with Adam Sandler. And he shows up looking like a slob, and she was not having it.

00:59:13 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

What the hell are you doing? I'm not standing next to him.

00:59:18 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 2:

You said it. You texted me. Please wear your sweatshirt. I said, please don't wear your sweatshirt. You said don't.

00:59:24 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, miscommunication.

00:59:27 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 4:

Anyway, I love them. I know. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:59:33 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 2:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scam is next.

00:59:40 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number's 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. So yesterday, I had to run out of the studio. like literally run because I was running late for the ribbon cutting and grand opening of

01:00:00 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 1:

Guy Fieri's new chicken guy restaurant. So cool. So cool. And they invited me to come for the ribbon cutting and stuff and thank you to Anthony and everybody over there. The Toma family, these guys are the Toma family, the nice people. I mean, I gotta tell you something. One of the things I've learned over the years is that always be nice to everybody because Anthony told me I met years ago when he was making me a number 12 beach club at jimmy john's and he's making me the sandwich and he's doing the whole thing and he's behind the counter and we just started talking about like you know my obsession with uh with jimmy john's and i had no clue that this young guy was the owner of all jimmy john's and all these restaurants and all this stuff and it turns out this guy was like he's unbelievable he would played for the tigers at one point he was in their their system for a little bit and now he's Guy Fieri's buddy and doing these chicken guy restaurants they're they're I was gonna say teammates uh because of the baseball thing but so he invites me over to this thing and as I'm driving over there the worst possible thing could happen to me I got bubble guts no I'm getting ready to get on 275 right over here by the radio station to head over to Livonia and my bubble guts started going off on me and it started and panic starts and panic starts setting in and it turns into when bubble guts ever happens to me I got to turn the radio off and I got to turn the heat up

01:01:39 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 2:

in the car oh I rolled on my window oh you do this is why you carry an emergency stash of Pepto-Bismol with you wherever you go well I don't know if

01:01:48 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 1:

dude, I'd have time to help it. This stuff was, it was like poking through, but so, but so, so let me tell you, I'm driving on 275 and I'm freaking out because all I'm thinking to myself is I'm going to go to the grand opening of this new chicken guy place and I'm going to show up there. And when everybody's saying hi and they're all wanting to cut the ribbon, I'm going to be like, guess what I'm going to do. I'm going to christen your bathroom.

01:02:12 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 2:

You blow past everybody else without even saying hi. I just go straight to the men's room that you can't do that.

01:02:19 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 1:

I'm like a race car that has the fire coming out of its exhaust pipes. So I'm like, I can't do that. So I started trying to think to myself, I'm a smart person. I can think of something. So there's a hotel right by there. So I pull into the hotel, and I'm going, all right, I'm going to run into the hotel, and I'm going to go use the bathroom. And I go into the hotel, and sure as you know what, it's a bad one. and I'm telling you guys, it's like a gluten allergy bad one for me. That's when you know it's bad when I'm sitting on, and I'm on when I get on the toilet, I don't stay on the toilet for, with my gluten, I get contaminated, cross contaminated. I'm on the toilet for five minutes. I'm on the toilet for 25 minutes, you know? So I'm on the toilet and I'm in their bathroom which thank you to the hotel, I didn't even catch which one it was. And my phone rings and it's Nick Thomas, who's their person, because I called and reached out to him. And I'm like, Nick, I don't know, man. I'm not feeling good. And he goes, oh, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. He goes, hold on. Let me put Anthony on the phone. And he puts Anthony on the phone. And I'm talking to Anthony from the bathroom.

01:03:29 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

And he knows you're in the bathroom.

01:03:30 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 1:

No, he honestly doesn't, because I think it's loud there, because there was a ton of people that were there. And I see the people. I could see them, because I drove right by it. It was all crazy and stuff. So long story short, or short story long, I've been talking for a little bit. I didn't make it to the thing because afterwards I just did not feel good after this thing was all over with. And I was feeling so awful. And I guess I want to pose this off, and I don't want – nobody has to be disgusted by this because we'll just get the funny little where you were. But where were you when you got the bubble guts? Like what was the situation that was in your life at that time? Because when you get the bubble guts, it doesn't sit there and go, oh, yes, you've got time in your day to have bubble guts. It always comes when you have no time in your day.

01:04:17 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I'm so excited to hear from all of my fellow IBS girlies. This is our time to shine.

01:04:22 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 1:

Megan, it's the worst, isn't it?

01:04:24 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but this is like a regular occurrence for me, which is gross. And I just have to, like, live with it. Like, this is my life on a day-to-day basis.

01:04:31 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 1:

And the worst part for this is you're never dressed appropriately for bubble guts.

01:04:38 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Never. I always have Spanx and then shorts on for the chub rub. It's literally the worst. And then if I have pants on top of that, now it's just a race to beat the clock. It's so stressful. And then you get sweaty, so then you don't want to go out after. It's terrible. It's awful.

01:04:53 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

This is PTSD from last week when I was on my way into work. I literally had to take my-

01:05:00 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 7:

Sorento and have it clean because I was scared that it got on my seat. I was on my way to work. All I got was What do you tell

01:05:08 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 1:

the cleaner? What do you say?

01:05:10 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 7:

I just say, hey, I just need to get this clean. What is your soapiest option?

01:05:16 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 8:

Blame it on the kids. I always did that. The front seat, though? Yeah, they were just sitting there. My seven-year-old was driving.

01:05:23 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to know the funniest part about the story as you're telling it, Mojo, is that if you remember, like, gosh, it has to be four or five years ago. I told you this story about going into the fast food restaurant, and somebody had, like, an explosion in there. I mean, there was poop on the walls. There was everything. And I walked in like, oh, my gosh, they're going to think this was me as soon as I walked out of the bathroom. That was Anthony Tomey's Jimmy John's that I was in.

01:05:46 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. That was it. It's raining from the ceilings.

01:05:49 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 2:

I was a regular customer, and I walked in there, and I was like, oh, my God, I got to go tell them about this. But now they're going to think I did it. And now he's going to think our whole morning show has some sort of horrible gut problem.

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 7:

We're freaky fast.

01:06:04 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 8:

Tyler, where did you get the bubble guts?

01:06:07 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So back in, I want to say like 2012, there was still a place called the Old Country Buffet open. And right next to it was a Goodwill. and growing up me and my family would always go and eat at the old country buffet and then we'd go to the goodwill well me being a little kid at the time i was like 13 14 we're all shopping and i'm standing at the counter with my mom i was like hey mom um i i don't think i'm gonna make it home she was like no like you'll be fine you'll be fine and well needless to say i just started sprinting towards the back, and that was not a good

01:06:50 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 8:

option. Oh, no. Yeah, sprinting makes it worse, right? Yeah, yeah. By the way, I used to love the Old Country Buffet. They were great. OCB. Yeah.

01:07:00 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 3:

They're not around anymore? I don't

01:07:02 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 8:

know. Maybe there's just a couple. Maybe there's some of them around here. Yeah. That's awful. Oh, God. Poor guy. And when your kid is the worst. What's up, Michelle?

01:07:13 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I was sitting at...

01:07:16 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she said sitting.

01:07:17 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I know, I thought so too, I didn't know I didn't know We're talking about bubbleguts

01:07:22 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 8:

You know how long that is

01:07:26 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 4:

And you don't want to move And I'm just thinking

01:07:29 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 8:

Wait, hold on, we cut you for a second Because when you said I was sitting We thought you put the H in there But you didn't Okay, so start again So you were where?

01:07:39 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 4:

I was sitting at commencement for nursing school And you know how long Commencements are Everyone and their brother's talking, and I'm just like, announce my name so I can go to the bathroom. And it went on and on. I just wanted them to announce my name. They didn't. I made it, I don't know, 20, 30 people in front of me, and I had to leave. And I missed my whole name because if I wouldn't have, it wouldn't have been good. Oh, no.

01:08:04 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 8:

So you actually missed getting your diploma.

01:08:07 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Exactly, yep.

01:08:09 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's awful. That stinks. Literally. And now, getting her diploma. Michelle. And by the way, I'm playing the song Poop in Circumstances instead of Pomp in Circumstances. Tim, what's going on?

01:08:29 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 6:

Hi, guys. I was in a wedding.

01:08:35 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 8:

Oh, jeez. Were you in the wedding or just there as a guest?

01:08:38 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 6:

I was in the wedding.

01:08:39 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Oh, no.

01:08:40 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 6:

And it was a Catholic wedding.

01:08:42 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Oh, so it's long. It's so long. Yeah.

01:08:44 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's, uh, yeah

01:08:47 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 5:

Now, was your bubble gut audible? Like, could you hear something going on in there?

01:08:52 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, I felt it rumbling And, uh, I was sweating by the end

01:08:57 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 3:

Were you just looking up at Jesus above you going, come on, buddy It's so bad

01:09:06 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 8:

Oh, God, what's up, uh, Alyssa, are you there?

01:09:09 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hi

01:09:10 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 8:

Hey, Alyssa, where were you when you got the bubble gut?

01:09:12 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 3:

so um i'm a i'm a dental assistant and um you know uh just going in and assisting with the doctor in somebody's mouth my stomach is literally right next to my patient's head and i start like sweating and i'm like oh my gosh i start like getting hot flashes and i look at the doctor i'm like i'm not going to say anything in front of the patient but i know that they can hear my stomach right now and i'm like all right all right like i just gotta push through push through and as soon as i had that chance i just ran to bed i mean you can't just leave whenever

01:09:51 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 8:

you want exactly oh that's so bad uh what's going on grace hi it's mojo in the morning oh oh my

01:10:00 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 5:

god i was at the 12 oaks mall i felt it coming on i was praying to the lord please let me make it to a bathroom and i didn't so i went into jc penny's oh this story gets worse i went to jc penny's find everybody i need pants i need clothes i finally get a hold of my husband he gets there and he asked this old lady to bring in the clothes what he has many people And they wouldn't do it And so finally he asked this lady And she's seen us on the stall Trying to find out who I am And I waited in there probably 45 minutes The end of the story My husband's going around telling everybody Did you ever hear about the brown bag J.C. Penney brown bag story Oh God, Grace

01:10:46 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 6:

By the way, in that mall The hallways to the bathroom Are seven miles long When you really gotta go

01:10:53 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 2:

It was horrible Spike, that was a phone scam You did this exact phone scam Of you being in the You were actually in a dressing room

01:11:02 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 6:

And I was calling them, asking them to bring something in And they would not do it

01:11:06 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 5:

But honest to God, Grace, thank God you were at a department store Where you could get fresh pants And though I couldn't find Everyone I called kept saying I can't do it, I don't know what to tell you It happened to the best of us It was like the murder mystery Like you were just saying That's what it was like

01:11:24 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I hate to do it, but this phone scam is also about pooping.

01:11:29 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Morning is your home of the phone scams. We're going to scam a dad. We've been told that he's pretty gullible. Let's see if he believes Spike, who will tell him about the new restroom policy at his son's school. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:11:48 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 6:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry. It's a catchy song.

01:11:55 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 4:

It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the morning.

01:12:01 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 6:

Hello? Hello, this is Austin Boutlier. I am the assistant to Principal S***. Is this Mason's dad, Mr. S***?

01:12:09 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it is.

01:12:11 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 6:

Mason's fine. Everything's fine. Just wanted to call you because we need to get to the bottom of something that was happening. It just really stinks, to be honest, and there's no way to paper over it. Do you have a second to talk?

01:12:22 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, is he okay?

01:12:24 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 6:

He's fine, yep. He's in class. But I want to talk to either you or Mrs. *** about, well, make you aware of a new school policy for Mason.

01:12:34 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:12:35 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 6:

Let me ask you a question. What is something you never appreciate until it's gone?

01:12:43 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Water?

01:12:43 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say toilet paper. And due to wasteful behavior, we are instituting a new policy in which your son will only be allowed to use one square of toilet paper per bathroom visit.

01:12:57 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 4:

What? You're talking about like one little square piece of a roll of the toilet paper? Yes. Okay, that sounds ridiculous.

01:13:08 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 6:

It's absurdly ridiculous how much paper he's been using, to be honest with you. When Mason needs to release the Kraken, he's apparently being very wasteful. He's using so much paper.

01:13:18 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 4:

What, do you have monitors in the toilet stalls watching what they use?

01:13:23 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 6:

Well, we've asked the other students. We've tried to get to the bottom. We do have a hall monitor, and we're trying to find out where all the paper's going because we didn't know if a child was playing a prank or something. The roll's always empty. but we did talk to his teachers, found out he does three to four bathroom visits per day. I mean, that's two times the poo as any other boy his age.

01:13:47 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay. This is the weirdest phone call I've ever gotten.

01:13:51 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 6:

It's one of the weirdest phone calls I've had to make, to be honest with you. We're a private school. We have the good two-ply stuff, so it shouldn't take half a roll every time he lays a brick, if you know what I'm saying. Pardon the pun.

01:14:01 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but who can wipe their butt with one piece of toilet paper? That's absurd.

01:14:07 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 6:

Well. Could you do it? Listen, I'm not singling him out. There's other students will also have to follow the conservation guidelines. It's become a big problem. But we do need you and his mother to talk to him about it and explain why he only gets one square per bathroom visit going forward.

01:14:25 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have no idea how I could explain that, that it would make any sense to anyone with a brain. I mean, that's ridiculous.

01:14:33 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 6:

You think it's ridiculous that he's using a whole roll of toilet paper every other day?

01:14:38 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 4:

How do you know that? I mean, unless you've got somebody in there with him watching, that's ridiculous.

01:14:43 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 6:

Well, we're not allowed to do that, sir.

01:14:46 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 4:

I know. So how would you know it was him?

01:14:48 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 6:

Well, plumbing problems every time he's making a deposit at the porcelain bank.

01:14:53 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you're telling me my son is causing plumbing problems?

01:14:57 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 6:

Huge, huge floaters. He's leaving. Oh, my God.

01:15:00 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh, a sewer serpent. What are you talking about? Oh, the old Garden City flip-flown. Every time the poor janitor goes in there, he's leaving. I'm sorry, I can't make any more puns. This is Spike from The Mojo on The Morning Show, and you've just been the victim of a phone scam. Really? Stacey asked us to prank you. This is Spike. You're on the radio.

01:15:22 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm glad because I thought if this was reality, we were a s***.

01:15:26 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't keep it in because every time I said some horrible pun for using the bathroom, you didn't even blink. You didn't even, like, respond to it. Do I win anything? No, you don't win anything. Really?

01:15:44 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams.

01:15:55 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

01:16:12 - 01:16:14 | Unknown:

One time. One time.

01:16:15 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 2:

Make some noise. For Mojo. Mike Shannon. For Mojo in the Morning.

01:16:23 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 4:

We also have this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show. Can't break up now. What was it that happened Right before the breakup That said to you Uh oh this would look like bad timing And What is the point To marriage Can we guess who's bringing that up Right now Oh what just happened No I can't hear you My mic just went off How did my mic go off?

01:17:20 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

01:17:20 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 4:

I didn't touch it. I thought my headphones were dead.

01:17:24 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 5:

I think it's what you get.

01:17:25 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh. It's like lightning or something, right? Is that what it is? I was getting struck right there at that moment. I knew it. So who is bringing that up on the show? I think you know who that voice is that will be bringing up the point to that. Coming up here in just a little bit. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. It seems like everybody is on vacation this week. There's a lot of the schools that are off for spring break. And I've noticed that any time that I've made a phone call to anybody to try to set up something, it's like, oh, I'm sorry, but they're off this week. They're with their family on vacation.

01:17:59 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 5:

Or you call them and you hear the ocean in the background.

01:18:01 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Actually, it's funny.

01:18:02 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 5:

Screw you.

01:18:03 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 4:

I've been getting people that have been sending pictures, you know, of stuff. And the ones that are interesting is when somebody goes on a spring break vacation and they go to a cold climate because it doesn't make me go, okay, I'm jealous. Like, somebody sent me, I'm not a skier, so I'm not really big on that, but somebody that I know sent me pictures of them, you know, up north skiing, and I'm like, okay, great. All right. Nothing jealous around here, bud. Mike, you're actually planning a trip here coming up very, very soon, right?

01:18:32 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, end of the month, we're going to Florida, like the panhandle of Florida, Miramar Beach.

01:18:37 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 3:

Nice. Fine. Do you know someone there? Why did you choose that location?

01:18:40 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 5:

So Allie's mom plans a family trip every year where the nieces and nephews and cousins and everybody gets together. We all stay in one Airbnb and spend the entire week together. And it's kind of cool. We've done it for the last three years. I think, though, I think, though, and I would love to hear stories of, like, family vacation drama stories or horror stories or whatever. because I think this is the year. After three years of it being almost flawless every single year, I think there's going to be drama this year. Oh, no. Why is that? Well, I don't want to because I got a March Madness-type bracket going on and who will be the first, so I don't want to spoil it. I don't want to give it away. Does Ali know that you do that? Well, no. Until now. Because it's her side of the family, So I don't want to, like, put it out there and spoil the chances of it going the way I pretty much think it's going to go.

01:19:39 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 4:

So plus you're going to Florida, too. So you're going to Florida where everything's crazy in Florida. You know, you need to get a Florida man.

01:19:47 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I just think that we've spent a few years together. I think everybody's getting comfortable with each other. We're going to spend a week together. And I know at the end of the last trip, people started getting a little.

01:20:00 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 2:

little snippy started getting a little testy and there's we have a group chat a family group chat of like it's supposed to be for just vacation and it's like become other things now and you can just tell in the way that the conversations are going that it's it's going to be a little bit different now i don't ever say anything because it's not my it's not my immediate family but it's very difficult not to make a smart ass comment when people go back and forth like that yeah it's very hard not without naming names or relationships what do you think the the big drama is going to be about um can you say uh yeah well here's the thing i don't think people can live together that normally don't live together for that long of a time without something happening and you're all staying in the same place exactly like we all have different lifestyles we all have you vacation differently that's a big thing yeah yeah i know that somebody's flying in and wants to go drive all over but the rest of us are road tripping so like it's gonna be like they want to go do all these things and we are gonna be driving already and not want to drive anywhere you know what i

01:21:04 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 1:

mean and so well they can go do their own thing then for this is giving me ptsd because all my mom ever wants is for the her four children to be together and she tries every few years to get us all together for a vacation and the last time was florida and it was just a nightmare like it's just everybody has different ideas everybody gets very stubborn in what they want to do and and um some people my sister will like have uh issues with what everybody else is doing and now we're trying to plan it again for this summer because my mom is turning 80 and all she wants is her children and grandchildren together and it's the same thing mike it's just nobody can agree on anything and i know it's going to end in massive fights i know what do you do at that point because you're there

01:21:49 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 2:

You're stuck, not stuck. You want to be there, but you're there. You can't go anywhere now.

01:21:53 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 1:

It's already started because my brother likes to do everything first class, high end. You know, he makes more money than all of us. So he likes, he has a refined taste in hotels and vacations. And my sister's always on a budget and trying to penny pinch. And there's, and then I'm in the middle. Shocks me. And I'm in the middle and I just keep telling my sister like, hey, you know who your brother is. Just expect that out of them. don't try and change him for the 20th time you're not going to get him to all cram into a three-bed airbnb let him do his thing he'll meet up with us if he wants to stay in a hotel he stays in a hotel stop setting yourself up for disappointment but it's gonna be a fight you'll get mad because i told you about last time my sister was like looking at the bill when we're supposed to split the restaurant four ways and she's like well i didn't eat the appetizer so i'm not gonna pay Oh, that would just drive me crazy.

01:22:45 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 3:

We had an infamous family trip. We call it the never go back to northern Michigan as a family. I knew you were going to talk about this. I rented a place up north, and we all stayed in the same place. And it was kind of similar to what Mike's saying. As the week goes on is when it gets really bad.

01:23:07 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 2:

And you have a humongous family.

01:23:09 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 3:

It's a big one. And it ended with Aunt Pat screaming out in the driveway and then racing off, not knowing where the heck she was going and people trying to take. Oh, it was horrible. And also the throwing up, you know, nephew who drank all the booze that the adults had, you know, and got it was just it was an awful thing. So, Mike, and by the way, listeners, we're really making this sound great.

01:23:34 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it great to vacation?

01:23:35 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Share your vacation with others that turned out to be a nightmare. Your nightmare vacation stories. Because that's the thing. When you stay at a home or an Airbnb and you're all together, you're right. When you put two, three, four families together, not everybody is, you know, simpatico.

01:24:00 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 1:

There's a magic number. I think the magic number is two families. You can get along with two families. You can come to an agreement on what you're going to do for the day. And even then, you might venture off, split off for a day and do your own thing. But once you get three, four, five families, it's asking for trouble.

01:24:15 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, the listener just texted in. That's a really good one. How many bedrooms and bathrooms in this place that you're staying in? Because that's a huge deal. Because like Spike's sister with the three-bedroom thing, you know. Or just sharing bathrooms. And sharing a bathroom in the morning. That's it, yeah. The annoying stuff of somebody wants to go out and eat breakfast. The other people want to cook breakfast. I mean, it becomes a kind of what do we know what this place is going to be like that you're staying in?

01:24:40 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, if it's anything like the past few years, I know that the families with kids have their own their own bathroom in this Airbnb and their own their own bedroom, too. But then there's there's cousins that don't have kids that all kind of share their bathrooms together. And it's going to be single people. Yes. What happens to them?

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 7:

If you don't have kids and you go on a family vacation, you're going to sleep on the floor. Nobody cares about you. Nobody receives you. It sucks.

01:25:10 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:25:11 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 3:

But we made it the first three years, and it's been fine. And then I think we all kind of separated and did our own thing at the end. But I think more and more as we kind of get comfortable with each other, everybody wants to do more stuff together. And I just, you know how you get that feeling? Like, you can just tell. It just feels like, yeah, yeah, something's going to come. I don't know that it'll be a big blow up, but it feels like something different.

01:25:30 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 4:

We need to get a psychic on to prepare you, to tell you exactly what's going to go down. So you know.

01:25:36 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 2:

So I have my phone ready?

01:25:38 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yes.

01:25:39 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 2:

The beauty is that your mother-in-law does all the planning of this thing, right? Yeah. And she's so nice. She like does all the planning to put it all together. And she wants it because, you know, grandmas want the grandkids all together and stuff. Maybe grandma just needs to take all the grandkids, and the adults who fight are the ones that need to stay away for her sanity. All right, Mojo in the morning. How did the big family vacation turn out to be a nightmare? What's going on, Stephen?

01:26:10 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 5:

How you doing? Good morning, everybody. Good morning. So my sister, she likes to plan all the vacations. So when she did this, we went camping. And when we go camping, hold on, my friend. So when we went camping, she was trying to make sure that everything went her way. And if something didn't go her way, she started yelling at people. And then that made everybody else have tension against each other because they're like, why everybody got to be different? Why everybody got to do this? Somebody got to do that. Why we can't just all do the same thing? I feel like how Spike's sister is, like, if we don't stay in the same place, how is that a vacation with our family? Like, we all got to be in the same room together.

01:26:50 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 2:

You want everybody in the same room? So you like it. It is kind of, it's fun at night, like, when everybody's going to bed and they're all, like, hanging out with each other, having drinks or waking up in the morning.

01:26:59 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 1:

Hang around the pool together, maybe have a big lunch or beach day together. But it's hard to get a restaurant table for 19 people every night.

01:27:08 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and that's how my family is big, too. And that's how it is. So we have to split tables up and then people will be at different tables. and they're like, I want to sit over here with this person. Yeah, it's a big headache.

01:27:19 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's crazy. And listen to those kids that you got there. Those kids are nutty, aren't they?

01:27:23 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and they'd be running around and kind of calm the kids down and put the kids up.

01:27:28 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

I can hear them there, yeah. Danielle, what's happening?

01:27:32 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 7:

Hey, my story would be that when we were on our spring break in high school, we went with our friends, three families, And they wanted to stay at this really nice resort in Orlando But we wanted to party in Fort Myers So we ended up having a big blowout And the families actually split up And we ended up driving to Fort Myers And ditching the other family at the resort Oh, wow

01:27:57 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 6:

Good for you

01:27:59 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 2:

Mike, you know it's a bad vacation When you're looking for another place to stay And that's what these guys ended up having to do Oh, man

01:28:07 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we ended up staying at like a Podunkey hotel too because that's all they had available. But I kind of get it.

01:28:12 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 4:

You only get so many vacation days. You know what I mean? You want to make sure that it's worth it and you're not miserable the whole time.

01:28:20 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 2:

What's happening? Carol, hi.

01:28:23 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 8:

Hi, how are you?

01:28:25 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

Good. We're talking about the family vacation nightmare.

01:28:29 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, my mother-in-law.

01:28:32 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 2:

What happened?

01:28:34 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 8:

Oh, we went on family reunion. They go on family reunion every year. and we went a couple years ago and she decided that she wanted to invite all her kids so she got a cabin for us but she's one of those like oh well i did this for you so you guys have to do all this stuff and then not only that she just tends to drink a little bit too much so she's just one of those like i swear sometimes i feel like i'm cinderella like she's the evil mother-in-law And the last day we were there Me and my husband Had gotten into a little argument And instead of correcting her son She decided to come up to me And scream at me in front of everybody Oh no

01:29:16 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god

01:29:18 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 8:

Oh no yeah Once he found out that she got mad at me He got into her And this is the thing

01:29:26 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 2:

You're on her family's turf Like Mike's going to be on Allie's family's turf At this one And so Mike's got to be on his best behavior to watch out for that.

01:29:35 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 3:

See, that's why I always, I just sit back. I just sit back and whatever, unless it involves my family directly, I just sit back and let it all happen. And it's gone flawlessly. Maybe it's because I don't say anything, but it's gone flawlessly the last three years. Well, you're smart.

01:29:48 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, but we'll see. It's really nice, though, that she takes you guys, that she does this.

01:29:52 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's incredible.

01:29:54 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 2:

Jeanette, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 8:

Good morning.

01:30:00 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Morning.

01:30:01 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 2:

So my mother-in-law, ex-mother-in-law, and I got into a fist fight in a bathroom stall on Put-in-Bay. Oh, I'm not surprised. She started it.

01:30:13 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 5:

She started it. What was it over?

01:30:18 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 2:

We were both drinking, but over her son, like, him and I got into an argument, and she tried to jump in, and it just escalated. Wow. We were wearing each other's shorts. I was wearing her pants so I could ride the ball. I was tearing up my legs. So we went in the bathroom, saw the change back into our original clothes, and she put her hands on me first.

01:30:39 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I love Put-In-Bay. Put-In-Bay and fist fights go together, like two peas in a pod.

01:30:45 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 2:

There's, like, 20 moms and 20 kids out there, like, all just standing there in shock. Yeah, it was bad. You know, it's going to be a mess when people are normally sleeping in the park when you wake up. Yeah.

01:30:57 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 4:

Was that the cause of your divorce?

01:31:01 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:31:02 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. I was wondering, because that would have been interesting. Mike, will it be difficult for you to go on this vacation now that you just brought this topic up on the radio? No, I don't think so, because I don't know. You don't know if they listen? Yeah, I don't know.

01:31:18 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, we just forwarded the podcast to them.

01:31:21 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 4:

And everybody else, by the way, you can get it, too. Go to our podcast. Like I said, I want the drama. I just said, I think there's going to be. If you think that you're getting cheated on, I want you to do us a favor. Text cheater to 95500 so that you can get on War of the Roses.

01:31:35 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:31:41 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 4:

So, James, you think that your wife, who is a stay-at-home mom, is cheating on you?

01:31:48 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, you know, when I'm at work, I keep seeing just someone I don't know. Like popping up on our ring doorbell And It's too far away to really Make out who it is But when I asked her who She said it is She said it's like her Instacart or DoorDash order Showing up But there's no charges For Instacart or DoorDash So basically a stranger's coming up to my door That I do not recognize

01:32:19 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 4:

So if there's If you don't see any charges ever for that You're wondering how the heck is she paying for this stuff, that this is going on. Well, do you think she might have a secret credit card or something like that? Or is that a possibility?

01:32:33 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I guess so. But, like, you can't pay cash for those things. Right. It's one of those two things.

01:32:40 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 4:

So you think it's more of a possibility that it's not her telling you the truth? Yeah.

01:32:46 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 1:

And you said you can't really tell because it's kind of far away. But can you tell if it's the same person, like the same stature?

01:32:53 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 3:

It seems like it, yeah. Okay.

01:32:55 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to see what happens when we call her up for War of the Roses. Stay on the phone and mute it, okay? Okay. We are hoping that she sends flowers to James. It's the Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

01:33:25 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 1:

hi hi hi is this bethany yeah hi bethany my name's nicole and i'm calling from a brand new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you and i'm just wondering if you have maybe 30 seconds to take a short two-question survey for me and we're going to give you some free flowers to send out today

01:33:53 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 3:

uh literally two questions um can can i just have the flower sent to myself

01:34:00 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 1:

so we're actually there's a little bit of a twist here um roses bloom.com we believe that men deserve flowers as well and in fact in a recent survey we found that 67 percent of men would actually enjoy getting flowers delivered to them so we're hoping that there is a a male in your life that you would want to send this arrangement to

01:34:21 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 2:

um sure i can send it to my husband okay um okay let me ask you the two quick questions first have

01:34:32 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 1:

you purchased flowers in the last six months bethany no okay and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months no okay um as a thank you for participating in the survey like i said our business name is rosesbloom.com and i just need to get some info from you about who these are going to. We can send them out today, by the way. And I know you said your husband.

01:34:54 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

What is his first and last name? His first name is James. Okay.

01:35:00 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 4:

And same last name as you, which I have right here. Okay. And Bethany, we also offer something unique. We offer a, called a digital voice greeting where you can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered. Did you want to do something like that? Yeah. Okay. So I'm going to count you down and you just leave something short and sweet for your husband. Okay. Okay. Here we go. Three, two, one. Here's a little something to brighten your day. Perfect. And I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

01:35:43 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 5:

Sure.

01:35:45 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 4:

Great.

01:35:46 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 5:

Bethany, I'm going to jump on and get more information from you. Yeah. I'm going to try to get the phone number to send the prize to your husband. But I also have to inform you of something before we do that. While we have been talking to you, your husband, James, has been listening in. And he heard every word that you just said, which I'm sure he's very happy about. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And we were doing the War of the Roses to see where you would send a dozen free roses.

01:36:22 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:36:24 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 5:

Yes. and your lovely husband just wanted to see if he was top of mind with you.

01:36:35 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:36:37 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Bethany, are you a little, like, surprised by this, or is that why you kind of have that?

01:36:45 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't understand why, A, I'd be getting free roses, but why he would be part of that?

01:36:51 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 5:

It's just that little thing that we do. And, um, he was wanting to know, uh, who, uh, who you would send him to because he said that he was a little suspicious that there possibly could be another person in your life. James, do you want to say anything? You want to tell, do you want to tell her why?

01:37:18 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we talked about this, but the, uh, the thing with the ring camera, you know, who keeps coming up to the house then? There's no DoorDash charges or anything so what's going on there? I'm grateful you sent me the flowers but

01:37:32 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 1:

You understand what he's saying, Bethany?

01:37:41 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 5:

Bethany?

01:37:44 - 01:37:45 | Unknown:

Hello?

01:37:48 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if her phone got

01:37:49 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 4:

She leaves?

01:37:52 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea.

01:37:54 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 4:

Bethany?

01:38:00 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 5:

Bethany.

01:38:01 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

I didn't hear it click.

01:38:03 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 5:

I didn't hear it click either. Now it clicked. Did she hang up? I mean, there's ways to think about this hang-up. Is this hang-up because she's embarrassed of the fact that you did this she's on the radio or is she embarrassed over the fact that there's more to the story there's more

01:38:24 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

to the story right i yeah i i uh i mean they're going to have a huge fight um for an overstep or a huge fight for maybe i was actually right and she just now i forget because it's been 10

01:38:38 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 1:

minutes did you say it's always the same delivery person or you didn't really you can't really see

01:38:42 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 3:

who it is the camera's too far away so i you know they look like the same person statute wise but I can't make out a face. I don't have any kind of weird facial hair or anything to really set it apart.

01:38:56 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 5:

Let's try to get her back on the phone, and then let's ask the listeners their thoughts on this and see what their feelings are of whether or not there's something else going on. Hang on the phone, James. Okay.

01:39:20 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:39:29 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. What you were just listening to with War of the Roses, a husband by the name of James suspecting that his wife who is a stay-at-home mom is cheating because of something that he's been seeing on their their cameras that they have there he's been seeing somebody that has been coming to the house and uh

01:40:00 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 1:

She said that it was DoorDash or Instacart that was coming back and forth. And there's no sign of any kind of charges that are coming to the house. Which actually, interesting, some people have been commenting about that. And I guess, and I don't know how this works, but I guess that there's ways that you don't have to pay with a card. But I don't know. Comments from listeners, you got a chance to hear this. She did send the flowers to him, but then she got angry when, or not got angry, but got shy and hung up the phone when he explained what he was doing. We've been trying to call back. Cassandra, I'm going to go with you, and we'll hopefully be able to get her back on and bring James back on with us. But I want to have you give a comment until that happens. What's going on?

01:40:51 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning.

01:40:53 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Good morning.

01:40:54 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 3:

I was just wondering, so if he sees this person show up, how long does this person stay? Does he see them leave too? Like how long?

01:41:05 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

I asked that question before we did the thing. So he can see that there's somebody there at the house, but he can't see their, the person's not obviously coming in through the front door, coming in through the garage or something like that or going somewhere else. I don't know. He doesn't see them come up to the door. Because I asked that question about that. and okay yeah because i said your camera's that bad that you can't even see because like i have a camera on my door my i have the ring uh doorbell and you can pretty much make out who the heck it is unless the person's you know covering themselves up so right but um but i don't know but you so your thought is look and see what's what's going on like if he's there for two minutes actually

01:41:51 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 2:

dropping something off or if he's staying for an hour. Right. That's very

01:41:55 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 3:

telltale. So if you can't see him walk up at least you know he's coming to the door. Right. How do you not see him leaving? Right.

01:42:01 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Unless he's leaving somewhere else. I don't know. I mean people have so many theories. Other people are saying oh maybe she's having something delivered that she doesn't want that she's embarrassed about like maybe it's edibles. And that's why she's not coming clean. She just doesn't want to tell him. I don't know.

01:42:15 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 1:

I you know it's we talk all the time about people cheating with their co-workers. That's a big deal on the show, co-worker cheating. This is a stay-at-home mom and first off, I don't know how you have time to cheat when you're taking care of kids, but their kids are a little bit older. So she does send them off to school and I wonder if there are any people that have ever busted a stay-at-home mom cheating or found out that a stay-at-home dad, who knows, was cheating. What's going on, Lalo?

01:42:48 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yes, yes. How you doing? Good morning. I'm a loyal listener.

01:42:54 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Lala.

01:42:55 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 5:

I love listening, especially War of the Roses. But, no, I think she's guilty because if you go back and listen to the call, when y'all were talking to her, her energy was uppity, she's happy, and as soon as he clicks on and starts bringing up the, oh, yeah, we talked about this, but there's no charges for the door dash or whatever, whatever, And then as soon as he brought that up, it was dead silent. Yeah. Good point.

01:43:24 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Good point.

01:43:25 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, remember that call on that one War of the Roses that we had where the wife got on the phone with the husband? It was completely different sounding than that.

01:43:33 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 5:

As soon as you just mentioned about the camera, they're not walking directly up to the door. If it's a door dash or anything, they're going to bring it straight to the camera. That's another great point. They want proof of the delivery. So why he's walking up to the garage Well, duh, because they know there's a camera And now y'all She ain't even answering y'all back Come on now Two plus two is always four No matter what country we're in Thank you, buddy I'm a very firm believer In 85% of communication Is non-verbal And as soon as she heard his voice She knew she was busted

01:44:16 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 1:

You're the man, I appreciate your call

01:44:18 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, y'all. Love y'all.

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it. That's Lalo. We got to get him to call more often. What's up, dude? Andy.

01:44:26 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. Hey, you know, at first I kind of thought she kind of knew who was calling. I was wondering if James knew if she listens to Mojo in the morning. And another quick question for James was he ever had any bags in his hands? Bags of food?

01:44:44 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're talking to him right now off the air. That's that question to him. He's seen something, but he doesn't. Their camera. First off, their cameras. He told us we're kind of like the we're fuzzy. They need new cameras. They've got better cameras.

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they – so the person did look – she said that the person did look like they were coming with something, but didn't look like it was much. What's up, Amanda?

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 4:

How you doing?

01:45:12 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 2:

Good.

01:45:13 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 4:

First time caller, finally. Woo-woo-woo-woo. Hi, Amanda. Love it. Welcome. I'm actually – my comment's going with the gentleman that you just spoke to. I believe she's guilty because, like he had said, her energy switched up as soon as he got on that phone, and she hung up way too fast. I'm sorry. If you're not guilty and you've got your husband on the phone, you're going to try to make him feel better about that situation that he's trying to find out what's going on. And I'm sorry. I'm a door dasher. I'm here to tell you we bring it straight to the door.

01:45:56 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 9:

What about the people

01:45:59 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 3:

That are ashamed that their neighbors See how often they door dash And they ask for it to be put at a different door So it's not obvious Are we speaking from personal? I don't know

01:46:08 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 4:

With COVID I get that as an issue Because there's still a lot of people out here That are afraid to leave their home So honestly With that I don't look at that You know, I mean, I get a lot of the same people every day because I dash from 9 in the morning to 9 at night. So I get a lot of the same people every day. And, yeah, there's usually instructions like leave at my garage door, bring it to my door.

01:46:40 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so they do actually have it delivered to another part of the house, though.

01:46:45 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 4:

I do.

01:46:45 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 2:

Bring it in the backyard during the summertime, probably.

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 1:

If they tell you to.

01:46:49 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 4:

They can if there is instruction, yeah.

01:46:51 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right.

01:46:52 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 1:

So she would be able to show that.

01:46:54 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, just show them the app. There's receipts. Show them the app. Come inside and take your clothes off. Has that ever been on any of your instructions?

01:47:04 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, if you are a delivery driver and that's on there, please. No, you know what? Please call us. I'm changing my DoorDash. Or anything funky like that. Please call us.

01:47:10 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 2:

And I'm putting that in my notes on the DoorDash to see if somebody actually does the delivery.

01:47:14 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 3:

Someone's going to call the police on you.

01:47:16 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 2:

They're going to ban you from the app. Let's have a delivery sent to us here at the radio station. and we ask them to take their shoes, socks, and clothes off. What's going on, Sam?

01:47:25 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah, good morning.

01:47:27 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:47:28 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 5:

So I am a very private person, so if my husband called me on War of the Roses on the radio, I probably wouldn't want to talk either. I think she was just thrown off. She was surprised, and she had already explained herself, you know, in real life. So I don't know. I probably would have not answered any of the questions either.

01:47:43 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Benefit of the doubt. All right, Carrie, what are your thoughts? Mojo on the Morning War of the Roses.

01:47:48 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I was just thinking when she first started off the conversation, she just said she wanted the flowers for herself. So then she sent them to her husband, so she was going to get them anyway. I don't even think she stopped to think about, like, sending them to someone else. I think she just wanted the flowers and sent them to her.

01:48:08 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she definitely didn't, to me, come across as somebody that she had a guy other than her husband on the top of her mind. she definitely didn't want to do the roses sending to anybody, but what's up, Sarah?

01:48:20 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Mojo. Now, I think a little bit differently than everyone else. I think her entire energy changed when you came on the phone. Right when you said something about, like, I'm going to get more information, she got very sarcastic. Oh, yeah? Are you going to get more information? And then you kept talking, and it was a lot of, oh, really? Like, I think she knew the entire time what was going on.

01:48:42 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 1:

Man, I am sitting right here for the whole call, and now I already can't wait for the replay to hear it again because I feel like, did I miss some things?

01:48:49 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Listen to the podcast, listen to the replay. That's amazing. Chrissy?

01:48:55 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 8:

Hi, Modo. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

01:48:57 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:48:59 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 8:

I think that her husband's being a little bit paranoid because she does have younger kids. And because you could easily check the comments on her DoorDash order, she could have easily told them, I mean, other callers already said this, but to go to the garage door. And, like, maybe she doesn't want him to see what she's buying, you know?

01:49:16 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 2:

So it's not a cheating. It's a hiding of stuff. But then where's the money coming from?

01:49:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 8:

I think she has a spending problem because that's something I would do, and I have a spending problem.

01:49:26 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay. You do? What are you spending money on?

01:49:30 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 8:

Shoes and clothes. Really? But to Mojo's point, then, where's the money coming from?

01:49:35 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, how do you do it without anybody finding it?

01:49:39 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 8:

I use my mom's credit card, and then I give her cash later. To be honest with you, I don't let my husband know.

01:49:45 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:49:47 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:49:48 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 2:

Please tell me you used an alias and that he doesn't listen to our show. He's a listener of something else.

01:49:54 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, he doesn't listen to the show. This is my thing.

01:49:57 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Well, now you got that.

01:51:01 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:51:05 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 4:

We got a lot to talk about. What do you got in this Dirty on the 30?

01:51:08 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, hundreds of people, hundreds and hundreds of people gathered at a candlelight vigil last night to honor the lives lost in Monday's shooting at that private Nashville elementary school. Sheryl Crow was among those there.

01:51:20 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 4:

Come to me now. Lay your hands over me.

01:51:30 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 3:

Singer Sheryl Crow, First Lady Joe Biden, and city leaders among those attending. Just two days ago was our city's worst day. I so wish we did not need to be here. We're learning more about the victims, Evelyn Dickhouse, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all nine years old. Overnight, Dickhouse's family releasing this picture of Evelyn saying they're overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support.

01:51:57 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 2:

Still no motive, by the way. Nashville police are still investigating. I'm sure we'll hear a lot more about this over the weekend. Ed Sheeran is a superstar, not only career-wise, but he's in a happy marriage. He has two adorable kids that he's obsessed with, great friends. But he's telling Rolling Stone magazine that he's not immune to the dark side that life has to offer. Really, the dark side of being in the music industry. He says he has an eating problem. Ed said, quote, I'm a real binge eater. I'm a binge everything. But I'm now more of a binge exerciser and a binge dad. He says his disordered eating came about because of the comparisons in the music business. He said he's constantly questioning himself. Stuff like, why don't I have a six pack? And then he said, he'll look at himself in the mirror and be like, oh, because you love kebabs and you drink beer. And he said, and then you do songs with Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber and all these people have like these fantastic figures. And so he would always say to himself, why am I so fat? And Ed said, eventually his wife told him to seek therapy for this, this constant, you know, being in a constant state of comparison. So he has, and he said it's helping. And I know that there are a lot of different organizations that are praising Ed this morning for speaking out because it's not many times that you hear men speaking about disordered eating. Mostly it's women who are bringing that topic to the forefront. Lana Del Rey is engaged to talent agency managing partner and musician Evan Winokur. She kind of kept their relationship very, very private. They've only been spotted together, photographed together a handful of times, but their relationship began a few months ago, and I saw she was wearing a diamond ring a couple of weeks ago when she attended the Billboard Women in Music Awards, and now it is official. They are getting married.

01:53:57 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 4:

What's the point of getting married, right, Maya? Oh, gross. Why do we get married?

01:54:01 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 2:

That's not what I said. When you do stuff like that, listeners are going to think that's what I did. That's not what I did. You have to go back and listen to that podcast, by the way, which is available right now in the iHeartRadio app. Taylor Swift made a seven-year-old Swifties' dreams come true at her ERA's tour stop in Vegas this week. This is the little girl's mom talking about what happened.

01:54:23 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 1:

So she brought the letter, and as soon as we got into the stadium, there was a guy standing there, and he had a suit on, probably just an usher. She says, hey, I have this letter for Taylor. Can you make sure it gets to her? And he kind of chuckled, and he looked at me, and we just smiled. And he says, I'll see what I could do. And he said, I'll try really hard. So she was happy with that. And I figured that was the last we were going to hear about this letter.

01:54:47 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so she went on to say that little Bella, that's her daughter's name, wrote her seat number on the back of the letter. And she couldn't believe what happened next.

01:54:57 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 1:

We were about halfway through the show when... And some people came to our seats and they were asking for Bella. I says, that's my daughter. What's going on? And he says, well, we wanted to give this to you. And it was the letter that Bella gave to Taylor. And she signed it. Dear Taylor, I'm your biggest fan. My favorite color is purple. And then they filmed my daughter getting the letter back because they wanted to pass it back to Taylor. They said just amazing that she took the time to do that in her. Crazy busy night.

01:55:31 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if they just have stuff like that lined up and she just runs off stage at some point and signs it all or does a quick video or something. I don't know how.

01:55:39 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 3:

I mean, honestly, even if you do it once and that person, though, people get to hear from them. I mean, that's amazing.

01:55:46 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 4:

A story like that goes viral instantly.

01:55:47 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, maybe.

01:55:48 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Doja Cat is firing back after being accused of promoting plastic surgery to her young fans. The drama all started when she tweeted last week, Got my, I'll say, boobies done and my, I'll say, Christmas bedazzled. She used other words, as you can imagine. And then, remember, she said that she had gotten lipo on her thigh. She had also gotten a breast reduction. She was very, very open about those two things. Well, one follower asked Doja to show off her new boobies over the weekend. And she said, oh, you know, they're still a little too swollen a few days post-surgery. I'll do it sometime in the future. However, that's when somebody else on Twitter jumped into the conversation to tweet, Stop encouraging your young and impressionable fans to change their bodies. Oh, man. Doja told that person to eat my long, quiet, and warm farts.

01:56:44 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 3:

I like that. That's better than E to D, isn't it?

01:56:47 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 4:

That was her. Eat my long, quiet, and warm farts. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the DirtyMorning.com.

01:56:55 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 2:

This is a danger song. You know my s**t be bugging me. I just be wondering if you could... Good morning. Mojo in the morning's dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

01:57:05 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. It's your home of the phone scams. We're going to scam a dad. We've been told that he's pretty gullible. Let's see if he believes Spike, who will tell him about the new restaurant policy, I'm sorry, restroom policy at his son's school. It's a Mojo in the morning phone scam.

01:57:20 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scans.

01:57:30 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning.

01:57:33 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hello, this is Austin Boutlier. I am the assistant to Principal S***. Is this Mason's dad, Mr. S***?

01:57:42 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it is.

01:57:43 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 2:

Mason's fine. Everything's fine. I just wanted to call you because we need to get to the bottom of something that was happening. It just really stinks, to be honest, and there's no way to paper over it. Do you have a second to talk?

01:57:55 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, is he okay?

01:57:56 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 2:

He's fine, yep. He's in class. But I want to talk to either you or Mrs. *** about, well, make you aware of a new school policy for Mason.

01:58:07 - 01:58:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:58:08 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a question. What is something you never appreciate until it's gone? Water. I was going to say toilet paper. And due to wasteful behavior, we are instituting a new policy in which your son will only be allowed to use one square of toilet paper per bathroom visit.

01:58:29 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 5:

What? You're talking about like one little square piece of a roll of the toilet paper?

01:58:36 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:58:38 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that sounds ridiculous.

01:58:40 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 2:

It's absurdly ridiculous how much paper he's been using, to be honest with you. when mason needs to release the kraken he's apparently being very wasteful he's using so

01:58:49 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 5:

much paper oh you have monitors in the toilet stalls watching what they use well we've asked

01:58:56 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 2:

the other students we've tried to get to the bottom we do have a hall monitor and we're trying to find out where all the paper's going because we didn't know if a child was playing a prank or something the roll's always empty but we did talk to his teachers found out he does three to four bathroom visits per day. I mean, that's two times the poo as any other boy his age.

01:59:19 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 5:

Okay. This is the weirdest phone call I've ever gotten.

01:59:23 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 2:

This is one of the weirdest phone calls I've had to make, to be honest with you. We're a private school. We have the good two-ply stuff, so it shouldn't take half a roll every time he lays a brick, if you know what I'm saying. Pardon the pun.

01:59:34 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but who can wipe their butt with one piece of toilet paper? That's absurd.

01:59:39 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 2:

Well Could you do it? Listen, I'm not singling him out There's other students We'll also have to follow the conservation guidelines It's become a big problem But we do need you and his mother to talk to him About it and explain why he only gets One square per bathroom visit Going forward

01:59:56 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, I I have no idea how I could explain that, that it would make any sense to anyone with a brain. I mean, that's ridiculous.

02:00:06 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 4:

You think it's ridiculous that he's using a whole roll of toilet paper every other day?

02:00:10 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 5:

How do you know that? I mean, unless you've got somebody in there with him watching, that's ridiculous.

02:00:16 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, we're not allowed to do that, sir.

02:00:18 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 5:

I know. So how would you know it was him?

02:00:20 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, plumbing problems every time he's making a deposit at the porcelain bank.

02:00:26 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 5:

Wait, you're telling me my son is causing plumbing problems?

02:00:29 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 4:

Huge, huge floaters. He's leaving, oh my gosh, a sewer serpent.

02:00:55 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm glad because I thought if this was reality, we were a s***.

02:00:59 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 4:

I couldn't keep it in because every time I said some horrible pun for using the bathroom, you didn't even blink. You didn't even, like, respond to it. Do I win anything? No, you don't win anything. Really?

02:01:16 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams.

02:01:28 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Manny. Amazon Manny text in and says, Mike had a hot mic on during the last commercial break, and all you could hear was Mike chomping on his gum. Oh, no.

02:01:44 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes, we got a few texts, Mike. Oh, man. Chop that gum, Mike. Chop that gum. Oh, man.

02:01:52 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 5:

Hey. That's so embarrassing.

02:01:57 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 2:

Here's another one. Mike's hogging on that gum.

02:02:05 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank God you didn't start talking and saying something. I probably was. That's probably why the mic was on. I know, but I'm saying if you're all of a sudden swearing or something like that. That's immediately where my brain goes is what did I just say? Chomping a gum. That would have driven. You would have known right away five seconds if you were in the Detroit studios because Shannon would have been like, Mike, I'm going to quote it out. You know what? When I went to Catholic school, the nuns used to make us, if we got caught chewing gum, put it on our nose. No. Yes. You got caught chewing gum. You had to take the gum off, and you had to stick it right on your nose, and it would stick to your nose. You'd be walking around or sitting in there with your gum on your nose. They couldn't get away with that stuff nowadays. I'd have had them arrested for that sucker.

02:02:48 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 4:

None of the stuff the nuns used to do to us.

02:02:51 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 3:

Crazy stuff back then. All right. It is Mojo in the Morning, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Shannon, next up with you, I let it go for so long.

02:03:08 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well, have you ever just let something go in your life specifically around your house for so long that then you just, you had to improvise and it wasn't good? So I'm calling myself out here for being a bad mom yesterday. I think we've all just been like kind of busy lately not an excuse but I have not done the best job with keeping up with a lot of things around my house specifically the laundry and so I've been trying to chunk away like my laundry and Lucy's laundry and Smith's laundry well apparently I did not do a good enough job and I say that because the night before last I threw in a load of Smith's clothes like kind of around bedtime and I thought okay it'll wash And then before I actually fall asleep, after I get both kids to bed, I'll throw it in the dryer and then everything will be clean in the morning. Well, I forgot to put everything in the dryer. And all of his underwear, this poor little five-year-old's underwear, was in that load. And when I say all, I mean every single pair of his underwear was in that load, okay? So when my babysitter yesterday morning, I'm here at work, so I have a babysitter staying home with the kids. when my babysitter was getting him ready to head to my sister's house yesterday morning because this is spring break. So I'm piecing together child care here. I'm like hanging on by a thread this week because they're not in school. My babysitter texts me and is like, Smith doesn't have any clean underwear. And I'm like, oh, crap. It's in the washer. I forgot to switch it to the dryer. So she had to put him in a pair of Lucy's underwear. poor kid had to wear his sister's underwear yesterday i am like that is just years of therapy he's gonna need i know i'm only telling the story by the way because andrew's out of town because he would have my head if he found out

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 1:

But he's like, yeah, I'm wearing Lucy's underwear when I got one from work yesterday. I'm like, I am so sorry.

02:05:06 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 5:

Wait, so do the underwear, are they like, do they look like non-girl, like girl? What do you mean? Are they more neutral underwear?

02:05:20 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 1:

No, Lucy's got the girly, girly, girly underwear. Yeah, she's not girly.

02:05:25 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 3:

We know he was thinking about that all day. Even though they're under his pants and nobody's going to see him, he probably couldn't stop thinking about that.

02:05:31 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to admit to something right now, but I remember trying my sister's underwear on once when I was a little kid, probably about Smith's age. For some reason, they felt so much more comfortable. They were silky. Rich Junko.

02:05:44 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 3:

How does that feel more comfortable? There's not a pouch.

02:05:47 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, they were basically wearing briefs. They were kind of briefy. They weren't thongs or anything like that. They were just regular underwear. But I remember as a little kid trying them on going, oh, these are comfy. Why do my Hanes not, I got like, you know, not even cotton Hanes. They were probably polyesters.

02:06:05 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Little teeny tiny boxer briefs are the cutest little things I've ever seen.

02:06:10 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 5:

Couldn't he have gone commando?

02:06:12 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 1:

He probably could have, but I don't think that she, she being the babies that are wanting to have him, you know.

02:06:19 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 5:

How did Lucy feel about her brother? Apparently fine. Oh, she was okay with that?

02:06:23 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:06:25 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 5:

That is so funny. Could you imagine? Picture this now. Fast forward. Okay, Megan, you and your brother are Lucy and Smith.

02:06:36 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, no.

02:06:37 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 5:

Would you freak out knowing that your brother was wearing your underwear?

02:06:40 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I would. Are you kidding me? I hope that you burn those underwear because if they go back, she'll be so mad at you. Absolutely mad at you. But I understand, Shan, at the same time, because I am wearing my certain underwear that you wear at a certain time of the month today purely because they were the only clean underwear.

02:06:58 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I've been there. I love you. I have been there. But you know what? It is.

02:07:05 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 3:

You punish yourself, and you're just like, well, I didn't do laundry. But for Shan's case, that's a mom fail. Hey, Nathan, what's up?

02:07:13 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 2:

So you're calling Shan a failure.

02:07:14 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm calling her a horrible, horrible mom.

02:07:16 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 4:

yeah i was uh horrible horrible hi nathan i'm those yeah hey how's it going good go ahead um i was just calling to let shannon know that there's a app called sudshare yeah we talked about

02:07:29 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 5:

it yeah we did it in trending news and i've never used it before have you tried it i have not tried

02:07:35 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 4:

it i actually was just reading an article about uh like a stay-at-home mom that was making like 30 grand a year on the side and that crazy uh working for such here yeah good for her but the

02:07:45 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 3:

problem in shannon's case is you have to be home to be able to give them the dirty laundry right

02:07:49 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 5:

and if she's at work already i wanted to know if that was actually a good service so if anybody has tried it in any of our listening areas you'll have to let us know about that that would be uh that'd be cool to figure that out um mojo in the morning uh i have a friend of mine and i'll give you a little demo on him so you kind of have an idea of like what he what he's all about he's 30 years old, single black guy. We were having a discussion and he says he won't kiss a girl right away because he hates kissing. Like, yeah, he says that he won't even think about kissing a girl unless he knows it's going to be a relationship because he says that most girls automatically think that you are, you know, into them if you kiss them. like that you go for it and he said I'm not really much of a kisser like he's not like a guy that likes kissing who hates kissing I've never known anybody that has ever hated kissing

02:08:48 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 1:

it's so funny actually I responded kind of surprised at the beginning of that but then I remembered Wes has always said he's not he was not a huge

02:08:54 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 5:

kisser he doesn't like kissing yeah and

02:08:56 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm very much the opposite but yeah like that was never this just gives me Richard Gere vibes by the way and was it Richard Gere or was it Julia Roberts who didn't like kissing in Pretty Woman or was it

02:09:06 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 3:

both of them Julia Roberts said she didn't kiss

02:09:08 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 2:

clients because she's yeah she was a prostitute yes but go ahead no finish your thought no go ahead no you go i love kissing i want to date this man because let me tell you my makeup takes first priority and if you're telling me i get to wear all of the great lipsticks i want to wear without ruining the look i'm here for it and not just lipstick but have you ever kissed somebody

02:09:34 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 1:

that has a little bit of facial hair, especially, like, scruff, and then your cheeks turn red because you're getting, like, a microdermabrasion at the same time.

02:09:41 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

You look so hot with your facial hair. Please keep it. Yes. But keep it away from me because it hurts so bad. And I know what you're thinking. I'm in gear with it. No. No, you don't. Because look at every girl who's gotten a weird reaction from your beard oils or whatever you're cleaning it with or whatever you're not cleaning it with. Y'all.

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 6:

Y'all keep the beards away from me, but also you look real good.

02:10:05 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 2:

All right. So here's a question for you guys as far as kissing is concerned. Is it about the lips? Is it about the tongue or is it about a little bit of both? Like, what do you like? Because sometimes you just got to kiss with the lips, but then there are some times where you got to go more intimate and tongue gets involved. And I often wonder sometimes If there are people that overuse the tongue Like you don't necessarily need to To do that This is wild A 2021 study I just googled people who hate kissing 2021 study found Half of the world hates open mouth And tongue kissing

02:10:45 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 4:

Really? That's a big percentage

02:10:48 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 2:

I never thought about that The world's not kissing I bet you there's some cultures where kissing is not even A thing

02:10:57 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 4:

Some people are just not good with their tongue.

02:11:00 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. They're over tongue?

02:11:03 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

They're over tongue. My friend Julie, I'll never forget this. She went out on a date with a guy, and at the end of the day, he kissed her, and she said his tongue was like a windshield wiper. It just went back and forth inside her mouth from side to side, and she was like, please stop. That was it.

02:11:17 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 2:

I think everybody that just heard that just did it, too, to see what a windshield wiper tongue would be like. I think guys think that they are considered to be romantic when they're doing that. and they don't realize that girls don't want it. What's up, Raquel?

02:11:30 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

02:11:31 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:11:32 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 1:

So my husband was never a kisser either, and it's because he was a bad kisser until I taught him how to kiss.

02:11:38 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

Were you one of the first ones to kiss him? Like he didn't have a lot of experience before you?

02:11:44 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 1:

We were when we were young, so I kind of just taught him how to do it.

02:11:47 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I want to know how hot. Does every guy think that's hot that she taught him how to kiss?

02:11:54 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 3:

It's not hot for her You hope you get a partner Who's going to tell you what's good and what's bad And what their preferences are Because it's the silent ones that are deadly Because you're going to be like Just turning them off every time If they're not going to critique and correct Your technique

02:12:12 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 2:

But think about this You guys get to do your studying Your homework, your exams together Kissing with that With having her be your kissing professor Raquel, thank you for the call I appreciate it. Majority of texters are saying that they like the tongue. I'm surprised by that. How many people want the tongue?

02:12:31 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 4:

I think a little bit of both is good.

02:12:33 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 6:

No? You don't like any tongue? No, I think I'm more into, like, this sounds so weird. This is not the right word, but, like, I can't say it. I tried to think of another word, a synonym. That's the, I like, like, slow, intimate kissing.

02:12:53 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:12:54 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 6:

Not like there's a worm. You know what I'm saying?

02:12:57 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

That's an invasive species. Don't be darting around with fast tongue action.

02:13:02 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 6:

I'm not here for it. Plus, I really only use tongue if I've been drinking. And that's when you know I'm sloppy and we're having a good time.

02:13:11 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Do you find that you would rather just have sex than have a kiss first? Really? Go right to it. Karen, what's up?

02:13:20 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. I was just thinking as you were talking, and I was sadly way too overthinking this, it's more about the approach. It's the way that that other person, that face, comes at you. Is it aggressive? Is it like tongue already hanging out? Is it soft? Is it gentle? And then if you really care about each other, you feel that kiss out.

02:13:42 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:13:42 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Your approach is important, right? You can't seem too eager and just jump right in there.

02:13:47 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea says that it's funny that I, you know, I always will kiss going in with my eyes closed. So I always have my eyes closed. So she kind of laughs. And then she says that I will try to open my eyes while I'm kissing. And she said it's weird when I'm opening my eyes looking at her. That once the lips touch, your eyes should close. But hang on a second.

02:14:07 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 3:

How does she know your eyes are open unless her eyes are open?

02:14:10 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Because she'll, like, quickly open up and then she'll see my big whites looking at her.

02:14:15 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

So you do the opposite of most people. Your eyes are closed when you're going in, but open when you're kissing.

02:14:20 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. It's very awkward for her.

02:14:23 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 6:

You're going to kill her one day.

02:14:25 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 3:

You'll hear that bonk on your head.

02:14:27 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 2:

There were some times where she'll actually pull to the other side just to see me miss as I'm going in. Virtual in the Morning's Top Trending Stories. All right, Top Trending Stories. We're going to get to a couple stories here. I got an amazing story, and it's a local story in a second, about this 21-year-old girl who is a new pilot who on only her third solo flight over the skies of you know the Oakland County area because she was taken off from Pontiac's airport there her landing gear failed on her and she had to do an emergency landing and wait till you hear who helped her with that. So I'll have that for you. I'll tease that for, I'm teasing the trending news story at the end. Um, this is a, uh, an amazing story. The FDA approved selling Narcan without a prescription setting the overdose, uh, uh, drug, the overdose revisionary drug, uh, on course to become the first opioid treatment drug to be sold over the counter the approval means that it will be a nasal spray that can reduce overdoses of opioids this is huge and in including street drugs such as heroin and fentanyl um but it will be over the counter and they're suggesting that you know people keep that with them you know it wasn't until what a few years ago i think it was that the police departments were allowed to actually carry it in their squad cars and i know that one of the people was sheriff mike bouchard from the oakland county sheriff's department that was one of the big people that fought to have that happen um but uh making it available more widely is a key strategy to controlling the nationwide overdose crisis which, by the way, has been linked to more than 100,000 U.S. deaths a year. Multiple fatalities, they're saying, today with two Blackhawk helicopters that crashed near Fort Campbell in Kentucky. That story happened just before our show happened overnight where the two Blackhawk helicopters, we'll get more on that, but they're saying that up to nine people may have been killed. The Pope is hospitalized. uh pope francis who's 86 years old has been hospitalized with a lung infection that will require some days of medical therapy now he was actually seeing people at the vatican he was going out and he was greeting people and he was even giving like babies kisses and he wasn't you know doing well his respiratory system wasn't doing well he didn't necessarily have an infection they said but they said that he has always had a respiratory issue since he was a little kid and he actually had to have part of his lung removed so the pope appeared to be in good health but had to be taken away in a wheelchair to go to the hospital do you guys ever when you're in the back

02:17:34 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 2:

the airport where you just plug in your charger into the usb port um they're now warning you that you shouldn't be doing this um here's the interesting reason they say that rental cars airports train stations ubers lifts that there's a privacy alert that the usb cables and the outlets are designed not only to charge but also to connect the devices and they're saying that that usb port can transfer information from your phone to the car that you're driving in that uber car or somebody could actually be trying to take all your information off of your phone including some of your financial information when you plug it into wherever it might be in in a business or

02:18:14 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 3:

in the airport i mean when i'm drinking i'm quick grab that aux cord i'm gonna be the soundtrack to an amazing ride home for you guys but then i realize they can hit the connect with this device in the front dashboard and start downloading all your phone your phone numbers your contacts all

02:18:30 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 1:

02:18:35 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 3:

there in your phone like i've gotten rental cars that had other people's info in the dash because they didn't clear it and it has all phone numbers of people i don't even know in there so it stuff exists and you don't know where that wire is going too if they say hey you need a charge you don't know where it's going they say even in hotels you shouldn't even use the usb i heard if you use the plug though it's safer yeah plugs into the wall are fine right sometimes they have like a alarm clock or a lamp that has just a usb right you don't know what that's connected to and they say

02:19:08 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 2:

your dad is not safe another warning is out this morning about ai too and what's been going on lately where you've been hearing about all the you know kids that are cheating at school and having you know ai write their term papers well now that word of warning is coming from three very

02:19:26 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 1:

influential people this morning a warning from elon musk and other tech industry experts about the power of artificial intelligence. Musk and hundreds of influential names, including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, are calling for a pause in experiments, saying AI poses a dramatic risk to society unless there's proper oversight. I think we need to regulate AI safety, frankly, because it is, I think, actually a bigger risk to society than cars or planes or medicine. In their new letter, tech industry leaders pose these existential questions. Should we develop non-human minds that might eventually outnumber, outsmart, obsolete, and replace us? Should we risk loss of control of our civilization? Musk and others are asking developers to stop the training of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4 for at least six months so that safety protocols can be established. GPT-4 is the latest AI model from the company behind ChatGPT, which can take vast amounts of data available online and turn out research papers, solve complex problems, and even pass the bar exam. The CEO recently spoke to ABC's Rebecca Jarvis.

02:20:41 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Part of the exciting thing here is we get continually surprised by the creative power of all of society.

02:20:48 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 4:

I think that word surprise, though, it gets both exhilarating as well as terrifying to people.

02:20:53 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

i think people should be happy that we're a little bit scared of this critics argue without oversight

02:20:59 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 1:

ai could spread propaganda and lies and eventually lead to anarchy but the more immediate concern jobs goldman sachs predicts the equivalent of 300 million full-time jobs worldwide could be replaced by artificial intelligence interesting well i mean there is a severe

02:21:17 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 3:

danger in the last week we saw ai showing us fake videos of like the pope wearing the puffy jacket and donald trump getting arrested and joe biden saying things he didn't say it's out there it's dangerous but what's the answer you can't say stop like okay the good guys stopped developing ai but the bad guys are still developing ai yeah so i don't know what the answer is there it's definitely we really got to tiptoe around how it's used because it could be dangerous but the bad guys aren't going to stop using it for bad things.

02:21:47 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 4:

Today is opening day across the country. Many Major League Baseball teams, actually I think most all of them are starting today, including the Detroit Tigers, are going to be on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays. Well, this is interesting that they have a pitch clock now. I don't know if you've noticed this during any of the spring training games. The pitchers have only 26 seconds. I thought it was 15. No, yeah, clock is 15 seconds. between pitches, and then 20 seconds in between, I think, batters. But here's the interesting thing. They found that by doing this pitch clock, it shaved 26 minutes off of the average spring training game. So the games will be a little bit shorter, which honestly they need to shave like two hours and 26 minutes off of this game. Yeah, exactly. Make them a little. They should do what they do like in Little League where you only play six innings. And if you're planning on going to opening day, you're one of the few because they say that one in three baseball fans can't afford tickets this

02:22:49 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 3:

year. I was just reading an article this morning that a night at the ballpark for four for a family now costs an average of $256. Isn't that crazy? For just tickets, parking, drinks, hot dogs. Yeah. It's like crazy amount. And they're saying even though the attendance is going down, which is why they're trying to shave minutes off the game and make it more interesting. The profits are at an all-time high these major league baseballs setting a 10 billion dollar revenue

02:23:18 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 4:

last season well these players are still making a crap load of money too yeah uh and here's that story i was telling you about a uh a local uh girl in the detroit area who is a new pilot she's 21 years old she landed a plane without landing gear with the help of a father figure take a listen to this. And by the way, this guy that does the report, this Gio Benitez guy from ABC, he could read me the lunch menu and I would be happy. Veteran pilot coming to the rescue of a young

02:23:50 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 5:

pilot on her third solo flight. Pilot Chris Yates on the ground waiting to take off when he saw part of that young pilot's landing gear fall off. What he learned about her as he helped her land that

02:24:01 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 6:

plane. Here's Gio Benitez tonight. Tonight, a rookie pilot making this incredible emergency landing that may not have been so smooth if it wasn't for another hero pilot. Wow, thank you. Okay. Yes, you did. 21-year-old Taylor Hash taking off from Pontiac, Michigan Friday, suddenly receiving terrifying news. Her front landing gear had fallen off, and it was only her third solo flight ever. Something is wrong with my plane now, and I have to, you know, kind of figure out what I'm going to do. That's when veteran pilot Chris Yates, who was about to take off himself, saw Taylor's plane's wheel bounce down the runway. And he jumped on the radio to help. That nervous pilot shared the same name as his daughter.

02:24:49 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 4:

What's your name, kiddo?

02:24:50 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 6:

My name's Taylor.

02:24:52 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 4:

Taylor, this is Chris. My daughter's name is Taylor. And I taught her to fly. We're going to be just fine, kiddo.

02:24:57 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Thank you very much.

02:24:59 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 7:

Is that guy unbelievable? Listen to this guy, Chris Yates.

02:25:04 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 1:

I was definitely terrified that calming voice was pretty much exactly what I needed.

02:25:09 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 7:

Wanted to get this kid back home, and I knew how to help her do it.

02:25:13 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 9:

And then that moment, Yates with nerves of steel, guiding Taylor to a safe landing.

02:25:19 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 7:

There you go, kiddo. Nice, sit back gently. Nice jaw. Here she comes, the nose is going to come down. You're okay. You're okay. Talk to me, kid.

02:25:30 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 4:

Good, I'm all good.

02:25:31 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 7:

Proud of you. Wow. What a story. We hope that airplane didn't end up on its back upside down, and it didn't.

02:25:39 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 8:

And David, tonight, Taylor says she will keep training to someday fly corporate jets just like Chris.

02:25:46 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 9:

David. Do you believe this tonight? Incredible story.

02:25:48 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Gio. Oh, I want to talk to them. Yeah.

02:25:50 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 7:

Yes, we need Taylor, Chris. We got to talk to you guys. I have to tell you, I got tears in my eyes right now. When he was like, talk to me, kiddo. Talk to me, kiddo.

02:25:58 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

Dude, if I'm having a bad day, Chris, will you call me?

02:26:01 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 7:

Chris Yates, talk us through the fact that our signal went out on us today. Right? It's okay, kiddo. It's okay. I mean, you seriously do that to me, man? Ah, life is a better... You know what? We don't hear enough of those stories, but I know they're out there. But it's those stories that literally make you get through the crap in your life and make you realize that this guy, man, what an awesome human being for doing what he did for that girl, for Taylor. All right.

02:26:31 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 2:

Now I'm going to be out tonight. Can I talk about this really quickly? Sorry. Where are you going to be? I just forgot I need to tell you. Okay. Kiddo, where are you going to be? From 5 until 7, I am going to be at the place that I go to. Anyway, Muse Med Spa in Troy. It's where I go for laser and Botox and facials and all those fun things.
