This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:01:39 - 00:02:24 | Speaker 4:

I would say Bishop State is like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put them in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or any 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State, with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.

00:02:24 - 00:02:31 | Speaker 3:

00:02:59 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 7:

All right, are you ready?

00:03:01 - 00:03:02 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:03:03 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 7:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:03:08 - 00:03:46 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:46 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show happy back from spring break good to uh be here good to uh have nice cold weather to enjoy it was actually really nice i came back on this is saturday i think it was and it was 70 degrees i mean i was raining but It was 70 degrees. I'm like, oh, this is great. We got opening day coming up on Friday. I was, like, all excited. And then that storm kind of ripped through yesterday, that storm known as Auburn. Oh, man. Didn't know where you were going with that one. You know what I was hoping for? I was hoping for when I got the alert alarm on my phone. Have you guys gotten that at all, like, where all of a sudden it alerts you that there's some kind of a catastrophe? That just happened. I know. We just had one here. like an explosion in Detroit or something like that. The alert went off about a potential, I don't know, was it a thunderstorm warning or something like that? And it's like, and it's like, goes off in my. Scared the crap out of me. I swear to you, I think I do.

00:05:00 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

right in my pants at that particular time. And it happened at literally a moment where Auburn was kind of making their shift back and that, what's his name, Broom or whatever the guy's name is. The guy came back from his injury. I was like, what'd they shoot him up with? I don't know, but he looked like he couldn't even use his arm though for a while, right? He couldn't. He was shooting with just his one arm, his one hand, his left hand. I couldn't believe that game. Michigan, Michigan State are out of it. My brackets, actually my brackets are screwed because I had Michigan State going all the way. I was a slappy. I saw you bragging hard on Instagram. What was wrong with that? Look at my bracket. I'm doing so good. Why? Are we at? Why? Because how was your bracket doing? Those are brackets. Let's take a look. These are all the brackets. Let's take. Let's see how you're doing there.

00:05:47 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

Are they updated? Oh, they haven't been updated. I have Duke and Auburn in the finals.

00:05:54 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

You have Duke and... I got Florida, Auburn, Duke. Okay. Actually, you can still win.

00:06:01 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm the one with the best break. Mine's done. Can I throw it away now? What do you have? Well, the final, I had, so my final four was MSU, Colorado State, random, Tennessee, and Arizona.

00:06:13 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Mine is, mine was Michigan State, Florida, Duke, and Tennessee. Tennessee's out.

00:06:22 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that was a terrible shot.

00:06:23 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. All right, well, I guess that's it, huh? That's all for me. Well, it was actually a great weekend of basketball, though, wasn't it? It was. It truly was. It's Mojo in the morning, back from a vacation when I had an opportunity to not really be away on vacation. I saw everybody I worked with. I literally saw Tony Travato and his kids on vacation. I saw Lydia on vacation. I ended up running into the Joe show on vacation. So it's funny because you ever go on vacation and there's people that are vacationing on vacation with you and they want to see you?

00:07:04 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:07:05 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 2:

You ever see that? And you're like, wait, I just saw you on Tuesday. Why do I need to see you now? It's like going to a sporting event. You ever go to like a Lions game and there's friends of yours that are at the same game and they're like, let's meet up in Concourse A or whatever for a drink. I'm like, I had a drink with you a week ago in my house.

00:07:23 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

And also, don't you feel rude saying, no, I really don't want to, but you feel like you have to?

00:07:29 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, I've become a curmudgeon. I actually now have no problem telling people no. I'm like at a point now in my life, and I don't know if I feel like the end is near for me, but I'm just like, no.

00:07:40 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

No, that's good. I'm proud of you for that. I have a hard time. And then I just dread it.

00:07:44 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm growing balls. I'm getting balls.

00:07:46 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:07:48 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes. But, oh, so let me tell you the Tony Travato story. And I need you as listeners to understand, who is Tony Travato? Does everybody know who Tony Travato is? You talk to the PD. Travato. Legend. He's the radio program director of this station. Which, by the way, I found out that his real name is not Travato. Bruh. Shannon told me, like, last week, my mind was blown. He faked being Italian. He's not even Italian.

00:08:15 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

How crazy is that? I don't know where the Travato came from, but I was, yeah, I was stunned when I realized That is not his name at all. My name is now LeBron James.

00:08:25 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 2:

If I'm going to go for something, I'm going to go for a rich person that can play basketball. But Tony Travato and his kids were on vacation down in Florida. I got a chance to see him, and it was actually fun. We hung out a bunch. Tony goes during the summertime and on any vacation. He and his family have ice cream every single night. They go to an ice cream place every single night and have ice cream. It's like their thing that they do with each other.

00:08:52 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

I love that.

00:08:52 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

The problem, though, is this. And I want this participation at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Tony Travato is a grown man. He's a 40-year-old man, okay? I don't know, 45 years old. The guy, when you go through, we went to this ice cream place three nights in a row, and the ice cream place has 100-plus flavors of ice cream. It's no joke. They've got every flavor you can know to man. I mean, they got everything from chocolate and vanilla to truffle butters, Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj or whatever. And what does Tony Travato pick out? He picks out Superman ice cream.

00:09:36 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, does he? He's a Superman guy?

00:09:38 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

He gets the Superman blue ice cream. It's got like little flakes, like little, I don't know, sprinkles in it or something. he did that one day then the next day he did purple haze a purple ice cream and then the following day he did some red ice and I'm going you're ordering little kids ice cream you can't order kids

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 3:

ice cream like that like they're like that's that those when they're scooping the ice cream they think that they're scooping it you know for his son christopher or his daughter emily or his son

00:10:10 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

nick they're not thinking they're scooping it for fake italian guy tony has a pretty serious job he has to make real adult decisions that move mountains and change his lives if the guy wants a

00:10:23 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 1:

little little scoop of some superman let him have it okay but here's the thing tony travato is totally a vanilla guy no offense tony in my book okay if he orders anything other than vanilla i am mind blown so this conversation's hysterical also my husband orders a twist with spring rainbow sprinkles every time we go to dairy mat so really yes and i always think it's so funny that he's like looking off the sprinkles yeah with lucy okay she gets the same thing you know and to me it's kind of similar of can a grown man get a ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles yeah

00:10:57 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. And a grown man cannot get an ice cream cone that is meant for a child, too. Like when they have ice cream cones that are like, I don't know, clown cones or something like that. I loved those. You got to get straight on sugar cone or, you know, or waffle cone or whatever the kind of cone. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want you to picture this. And this is to all my ladies that are listening here. What would you do if you were on a date with Tony Travato and your date ordered Superman ice cream? Would you tongue a man that had blue tongue? Would you allow that man to perform any kind of sexual act on your body when he comes at you with his mouth blue, his teeth and his lips? Poor Brooke. His wife, by the way, is a saint. She is truly a saint.

00:11:47 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

What did you order, by the way, while we're making fun of him?

00:11:50 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 3:

I ordered, okay, you ready? I ordered chocolate caramel, chocolate truffle caramel, something like that. It was like chocolate with these caramels and truffles or something in it. That was my first night. Second night, I ordered Snickers. They had a Snickers one. And then I had a Heath the following night. Oh, yeah. I mean, that's pretty, see? You'd let me go around you. Okay. No, I would not.

00:12:14 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 1:

Let the record show. Wes, you better be careful with your sprinkles. Kevin, I don't think you've ever been around Mojo when we're in like a town, like a beach town or something like Grand Haven that has a Kilwind. Do we have Kilwinds around here? Does Plymouth have Kilwinds still?

00:12:28 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

What is that?

00:12:29 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 1:

I think Plymouth, Michigan still has the last Kilwinds around here. But when he sniffs a Kilwinds.

00:12:37 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love Kilwinds.

00:12:38 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 1:

He starts squealing like a little kid about their French silk ice cream.

00:12:42 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 3:

And I never get an everlasting gobstopper, but they have them there. You're a big ice cream guy? Actually, you know what I love? caramel apples i love caramel oh my god i there is something about it uh dylan what's happening

00:12:55 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 4:

it's mojo in the morning hi hey what's up um i was just uh saying that um technically shannon is still correct because as far as i know superman ice cream is just vanilla ice cream that's died

00:13:08 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 1:

wait a second so why no no wait it tastes it tastes fruity or something it does it does it It has a taste to it.

00:13:16 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 4:

I guess different people have different kinds of Superman ice cream, but we have a place around here. It's called Toss Ice Cream, and their Superman is just dyed vanilla. Oh, they're cheating you.

00:13:27 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Wait, where is that at? Where are you? Where are you calling us from?

00:13:31 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 4:

I live in Fremont. It's about 40 minutes south of Toledo, but the Toss place is in Sandusky. Oh, okay. They're playing that.

00:13:41 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 3:

But that's actually – there's something for you. Anytime you go to, I don't know, Cedar Point or you go to anywhere that's by a theme park, do you ever notice that the ice cream flavors are meant for children, not for adult children, right?

00:13:55 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 1:

There's always Blue Moon.

00:13:56 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 3:

They always have something about, yeah, something kind of fun. And by the way, try a Killwinds if you've never tried it before. Killwinds are great. Downtown Grand Rapids right there at the base of our building there, 104.5 SNX. What's up, Brandon? Hi.

00:14:09 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:14:09 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, don't you think we should be worried about Tony getting diabetes? You know, I never thought about that, Brandon. That's actually a public service announcement. This guy's going to need insulin after he eats this stuff. The funny is, is his little daughter, he's got the cutest kids, by the way. His daughter, Emily, is ordering, like, something adult. You know what I mean? Like, she has this ice cream there. When they handed this, this just. He better keep a good dentist online. Oh, believe me, he's got to. When they handed the ice cream to everybody, they handed the Superman ice cream to the kids, and they handed the adult ice cream to Tony and he was like having to switch them. I mean, that should be an indicator, right, Brandon? Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Yeah, we're worried about our boss's health. We want to make sure that he's okay and he's safe. Oh, my God. All right. Well, you notice I'm doing this topic as...

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 6:

an hour that hopefully he's not driving in his car. Nikki, what's up?

00:15:04 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hey, how you doing this morning, guys? What's happening? I think I would be more attracted to the guy who ordered the Superman with sprinkles. Why? Because that tells me that he's more adventurous. Really? And he's not gonna let life slip by just because he's worried about what other people think.

00:15:24 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 6:

Wait, so you're saying that Tony Travato you think, huh?

00:15:28 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean,

00:15:29 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 3:

What happens if you wanted to try all those ice creams and you never did because you're worried about what people thought? Wow. That's interesting. And then you get nothing but regret with you.

00:15:38 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 6:

Let me try this. Let me try this. I got a survey here. Your favorite ice cream flavor reveals your favorite sexual position. Let's find that.

00:15:48 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that makes it even fun. Let's do that. Let's do that.

00:15:52 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 8:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day.

00:15:56 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 7:

We have to go back in time.

00:15:57 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 8:

where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:00 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 6:

All right, it is time now for the Back in the Day. We are giving away tickets to go see who. Let's see. Oh, Nelly. How? Man, this is not even prime time, and we're giving away Nelly tickets. We must have great prizes. Oh, we have, check this out. We have opening day Tigers tickets this week. We're giving you a chance to go to opening day on Friday. I'm sorry, my ADD is going off right now. Nelly is going to be with Ja Rule, Chingy, and Eve at Pine Knob on August the 9th. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com. What year was this from The Three Clues? A TV reporter asked a man how he would spend $1.3 billion in a jackpot lottery drawing.

00:16:41 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 2:

Your numbers are lucky, though. Am I right? Can I ask you, if you won all the money, what would you do with it?

00:16:47 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 5:

A bunch of hookers and cocaine.

00:16:48 - 00:16:49 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

00:16:49 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 2:

That's not good.

00:16:50 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 1:

We were hoping for a different answer.

00:16:52 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 4:

Prince died in this year. His publicist, Yvette Noel-Shurt, told the Associated Press the music icon was found dead at his home Thursday in suburban Minneapolis.

00:17:01 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 6:

And the big song that was on the radio. Flo Rida. We got a chance for you to win. What year was that?

00:17:17 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 8:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. Spring cleaning. A good reminder that you're a hoarder the rest of the year. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning. Back in the day. What year was this?

00:17:37 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 6:

All right. This was the year that a TV reporter asked a man how he would spend that big lottery jackpot that they had.

00:17:44 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 2:

Your numbers are lucky, though. Am I right? Can I ask you, if you won all the money, what would you do with it?

00:17:50 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 5:

Bunch of hookers and cocaine.

00:17:51 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, that's not good.

00:17:53 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 1:

We were hoping for a different answer.

00:17:55 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 5:

The artist known as Prince died in this year.

00:17:58 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 4:

His publicist, Yvette Noel Schur, told the Associated Press the music icon was found dead at his home Thursday in suburban Minneapolis.

00:18:04 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 6:

I'll never forget. I was actually on 12 Mile Road, leaving the radio station when I found that out. And Flo Rida. Big song, what year was this? will set you up with the prize tickets to see Nelly Ja Rule and a whole bunch of other people. What year was that, Matt? 2016. 2016, you say? Yes. Yes. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:18:32 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 7:

The year Prince died.

00:18:33 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes. I think we all kind of remember that. That was a big death. That and Michael Jackson, to me, were like the artists that, when they both died, I kind of knew where I was. Tell me.

00:18:42 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they were both legends.

00:18:44 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, absolutely. Congratulations to you, man. We're setting you up with Nelly, Ja Rule, Chingy, and Eve tickets for Pine Knob on August the 9th. Banger! It's going to be a Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown show. Congratulations to you.

00:18:57 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 7:

Thank you.

00:18:58 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 6:

Have the best time, Matt. Have a great day, buddy.

00:19:01 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I just wanted to give a shout out. My fiance is a teacher, underappreciated, underpaid, and they do miracle work.

00:19:09 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 6:

Aw, man. You know what? That's awesome. But you appreciate her. I love that, Matt. Enjoy that concert, okay? Hold on one second, and we'll get you set up. We're going to give you a shot at tickets to see Kendrick along with SZA. Let's do Squabble for our first one. We'll make it a morning of spell check. Squabble, S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E to 95500 for your shot to win a pair of tickets to go to Ford Field in June to see Kendrick and SZA. Standard text and data rates to apply.

00:19:44 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 8:

Mojo in the Mornings Dirty on the 30

00:19:47 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 6:

Megan and Kev and Zach and Lydia and everybody were filling in while we were away and thank god we were because everybody is sick Megan is sick today Zach sounds

00:20:00 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

Sounds like he's literally got a tree trunk in his nose. Kevin. I'm back and better, baby. You are the Wuhan laboratory here. Did you start it? Of course I did. I start everything. You got everybody's sick here. You're, what is it, number one.

00:20:18 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 3:

No, I should have been in Florida.

00:20:21 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 2:

You know what? No, because you would have gotten us sick down there. So Megan's out this morning. What's going on, Shannon? Dirty.

00:20:27 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 4:

Well, every team that entered the NCAA men's tournament with a top seed is going to the Final Four in San Antonio. All four number one seeds in the bracket. Making it to the Final Four is a rarity. And I think I heard, is this only the second time this has happened?

00:20:43 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 2:

You know what? It's funny is I can't believe that that's that long of a shot.

00:20:47 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:20:47 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

That the number one seeds. That's wild.

00:20:50 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 4:

You know what it is? Unfortunately, what?

00:20:51 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, before you get to the end four, I think it's the NIL stuff. Notice there's no Cinderella people. So any of these teams that don't pay people, we're really not the ones that it's all the how much money you're paying these guys.

00:21:02 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 3:

Did you see Indiana? No one from their team is returning next season. They all enter the transfer portal. Every single player. Really? Yeah. That's crazy.

00:21:12 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, going back to my unfortunately number one Auburn survived against the second seeded Michigan State Spartans last night to finish the sweep for the top seeds. This is Coach Tommy Zoe.

00:21:23 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 1:

Guess what? Somebody's going to go home sad. today it's the spartans next saturday we you know two more teams and next monday it'll be one more team and and uh i don't want to make it as trite as it sounds because it's not and if you've been in a locker room you know there's some locker rooms that people are bitching and complaining and then there's some locker rooms where people are crying and hugging it was a crying and hugging locker room and that means that we had something special so i'm gonna appreciate that i'm sure it'll

00:21:53 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 4:

feel better in a couple days yeah earlier yesterday houston beat tennessee to punch their ticket to the semi-finals on saturday top-seeded florida held off number three texas tech to advance to the final four and then duke took care of business against alabama the final four uh begins april 5th i believe at the alamodone in san antonio look at shannon but you guys i struggled with that i struggled with that so bad i struggle and the only reason i use those phrases, it's because I hear other people who are actually sports reporters use them. Basically, I just copy.

00:22:29 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 2:

Kevin sent me a clip of a sports reporter from Florida, I think it was, who was in the locker room doing interviews, and she barely knew anything about the players. That would be me. But she was beautiful.

00:22:45 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 3:

That's the only reason she was in there. Shout out to the Spartans. Shout out to Izzo. Great season. Big 10. champions hanging banners was a tough loss but hold your head up high we had a great year

00:22:56 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 4:

in the midst of her legal battle surrounding her movie it ends with us blake lively surprised fans by making donuts working behind the counter at a donut shop in connecticut yesterday it was super random everybody said she was very happy she was in a great mood handing out donuts i guess she's friends with the owner of this donut shop it's called rise donuts in wilton connect uh connecticut PR stunt. So, yeah, for sure. I feel like Sean Kingston's name has been thrown around in this studio for the past couple of months because everybody is making the joke of, he's one of those people you go, where has he been? What is he doing now? He's in jail. Well, he's in home detention. Did you hear the story of what happened to him and his mom?

00:23:39 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:23:40 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 4:

So, he and his mom, her name is Janice, were found guilty on all five charges they were facing in their federal wire fraud case. And I think I talked about this when their home was raided by the feds last year, but they've been accused of defrauding businesses out of more than a million dollars in this scheme that included jewelry and luxury vehicles and all sorts of other luxury items. So they falsely claimed that they sent money to these random businesses to pay for these items and they kept the stuff even after it was discovered that the money that they quote-unquote sent never actually went through. The judge said Sean's mom is a flight risk, so she is literally behind bars right now. Sean is currently in home detention. They're going to be sentenced in July, and they face up to 20 years in prison if they are convicted here.

00:24:36 - 00:24:52 | Speaker 2:

Sean Kingston should be added to that list of artists like the Nelly, Ja Rule, Eve, you know, doesn't that seem like the same era right there? I would hope that he would open. Yeah. Well, he would have to because he has to get back to jail at a certain time.

00:24:53 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, call it the most expensive coffee cup ever. Lauren Santos.

00:25:00 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 5:

is the fiancé to billionaire Jeff Bezos stepped out yesterday carrying a Balenciaga handbag shaped like a to-go coffee cup. So everybody thought it was just a coffee cup. No, that thing, the price tag on it, $5,750. Wow. What's it made of? I don't know. That's a lot of money. It's made of reach. Yeah.

00:25:23 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 3:

Is it like China or something like that? Is it what? China. I can't say it. I don't know, but six grand for a coffee cup. Expensive stuff my grandma has had.

00:26:23 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 4:

I didn't sit up yet. That's just what I say. Just a little kid.

00:26:26 - 00:26:39 | Speaker 3:

You played with us right before I left for going away for spring break, and I remember you kind of having that low-key attitude. It's kind of like, do people automatically just assume that you're just smoking weed all the time or something?

00:26:40 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I kind of am. Not yet. Not right now, but, like, normally I do smoke a lot of weed. I love it.

00:26:48 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 3:

I love that. All right. Clearly he's high. She's high. All right, let's meet your challenger today from Clay Township, works in the finance department at a logistics company. Welcome, Dominique, to the show. Hi, Dominique. Good morning. What's happening? Will you say hello, Nina, to Dominique?

00:27:09 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Dominique.

00:27:10 - 00:27:41 | Speaker 3:

Will you pass, pass, puff to Dominique? All right, Dominique, we're going to lock her up in a soundproof area right now. He doesn't puff or pass. We're going to put Nina in a soundproof area. Hold on one second. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Dominique, nice to talk to you. Question number one. We're down now to the final four in the March Madness men's basketball tournament. Name one of the four teams headed to San Antonio this week.

00:27:42 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 4:

Auburn.

00:27:43 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Question number two. Morgan Wallen walked off the set of SNL. as soon as the credits started rolling on Saturday night. What does, or I'm sorry, what city does SNL take place in?

00:27:57 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 4:

Los Angeles.

00:27:59 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Question number three. Over the weekend, President Trump floated the idea of attempting to run for a third term. How long is each term that the president serves? Four years. Question number four. Kanye West said in a new interview, that he never wanted to have kids with Kim Kardashian. True or false? The former couple has three children together. False. And question number five today is National Crayola Day. What color are the boxes that Crayola crayons come in? Yellow. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof, oh, that's the wrong button, soundproof area.

00:28:45 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 5:

You can play the air horn. She's got four out of five. That's pretty good. Nice.

00:28:50 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

All right. So, Nina, you got to be good today, okay? Near perfect in order to be our champion today.

00:28:57 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:28:58 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing there, Bianca? I saw you walking around here behind us. The lights don't look good when the lights are on. Oh, the lights are on. How are you doing, Bianca? Are you doing okay? I'm sorry. I'm just saying hello to everybody that I missed over last week. Yeah, great. All right. Here we go. Nina, ready? I was giving you a breath there for a second. Question number one. Thank you. We're down to the final four in the March Madness men's basketball tournament. Name one of the four teams headed to San Antonio this week. Duke. Yes.

00:29:27 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 2:

One to one.

00:29:29 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Question number two. I'm going to do it like you talk. Question number two. Morgan Wallen walked off the set of SNL as soon as the credits started rolling on Saturday night. In what city does SNL take place? um New York yes let's go two to one Dominique you said Los Angeles uh question number three over the weekend President Trump floated the idea of attempting to run for a three

00:30:00 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 2:

third term how long is each term that the president serves four years yes three to two she's got to miss these next two dominique to make you the champion but i don't think she's going to question number question number four kanye west said in an interview that he never wanted to have children with kim kardashian i'm gonna do a true or false question true or false the former couple has three children together? Four. Yes! Four to three. How many do they have, guys? Four children together. Yes. All right. And for a perfect score, Nina is going to get herself some good bud today. Today is National Crayola Crayon Day. What color are the boxes that Crayola crayons come in? Oh, yellow. Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, no, no. Oh, yellow. Five to four. Good job. Nina, Nina, Nina. Nina, I couldn't do it. I don't know. I don't know what it is. You know, call me a guy that just is no fun. But I just, for some reason, I just want to eat whenever I have my. I do, too. It's so, like, I'd be even heavier than I am right now, and I've been trying to keep it down, but it's like. Talk it up, man. It's crazy, but you sound so much more relaxed than me. I bet you've got great blood pressure, don't you?

00:31:34 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure it's pretty low. I'm not high right now, though. I really didn't wake up. You're not? How are you not? No. It's too early. I mean, I smoke a lot, but not until, like, afternoon.

00:31:47 - 00:31:53 | Speaker 2:

What time do you normally wake up at? Because when I was off last week, I was waking up at, like, 9 o'clock in the morning. It felt so good.

00:31:53 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 1:

No, I wake up at, like, 8, but, like, since I've been doing this, my body's used to waking up at, like, 6 now.

00:32:00 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Well, she's good. Dominique, we got a parting gift for you. We're going to set you up with something here, okay?

00:32:07 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay, thank you.

00:32:08 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. We're going to give you a gift card to one of our favorite places, a restaurant called Tabooli, so enjoy that. And hang on the phone for just one second. We'll see you tomorrow, Nina. It's Mojo in the mornings. 5 is 6.55. 5, 5, 5. W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. I sat on my airplane on the way back from Florida for spring break next to a school principal who told me that they would not allow me to say where they are a principal of because they said that they were worried that, I don't know, maybe being associated with me would actually be a bad thing or something. I don't know. But she's like, please don't mention what school I work at. She said, but will you come out and speak to my kids? I'm like, okay, sure, we'll do that anytime. But she is a downriver principal who might be a 10. I think she's probably a 10.

00:33:17 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 1:

Beautiful.

00:33:18 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. First off, Shannon, all I kept thinking of myself the whole time was I could not have her as my school principal because the entire time I would be thinking to myself, oh, my God, look how beautiful she is. But then I thought I'd get perfect attendance or I'd get called to the principal's office. That's the way to do it. You know, can we do a quick impromptu survey here? Let's do an impromptu, Lydia. I would like to know what's the last thing that you got in trouble for at school that you got sent down to the principal's office for. Can you call, and your kid too. You can call about your kid, and you don't have to say what school, you don't have to say your name, whatever it might be. But in honor of the hot principal downriver, let's do, what did you get called to the principal's office for? I went to Catholic school, and I will never forget, Sister Margaret Exworthy was her name. Legitimately, her last name was Exworthy. I was like, hello, Sister Margaret Exworthy. She made me kneel down on the hard tile floor at her desk while she ate lunch, and I couldn't eat my lunch because I got caught fighting on the school recess playground. Like, on your knees? I had to be on my knees watching her eat a Malona sandwich. That's so crazy. What was Exworthy into? Well, I never thought of it that way. I just thought it was like corporal punishment. Get on your knees, Tommy, and watch me eat my bologna. That's so weird. No, I never thought of it that way. Why do you got to bring it up that way? No, because it does sound that way. No, it doesn't. It's really strange. It sounds like corporal punishment. It sounds like she's being mean. It sounds like she's trying to, you know, nowadays she'd be sued for.

00:35:00 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

abused not for any kind of thing sexual the fact that you still remember it was a bologna

00:35:04 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 3:

and actually that makes sense to me no no no and laze potato chips the yellow bag of laze all she was missing was having you feed her the chips did you ever get called to the principal's

00:35:18 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 2:

office at your creative school the creative performing arts school yeah i mean well i told you i've been expelled from schools i've been suspended several times why were you expelled Well, I told those girls with the popular term back when I used to watch wrestling with DX.

00:35:35 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right.

00:35:35 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 2:

You got expelled for that? Yeah. Well, I mean, I told this other girl I had a dream about her. So it was a lot of stuff that happened at the same time. It was like three different families in the meeting room. But the last time I got suspended, I was in high school. And you're not supposed to ride the elevator unless you have a pass. Yeah. And I was like, dog, I don't feel like walking up the stairs. So I'm just going to ride the elevator. As soon as it opened up, security guard was right there. She's like, I got to do it to you. I got to do it.

00:35:58 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

Why do I picture Miss Goody Two-Shoes over here has never been ever called to the principal's office? You probably didn't even know where it was. I don't think I...

00:36:07 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 1:

No, I knew where it was.

00:36:10 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 3:

Valedictorian, gross point. Or gross seal high school.

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 2:

You've never been suspended?

00:36:15 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:36:16 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 2:

What do you think she is? I mean, good girls get in trouble too.

00:36:20 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 3:

Not her. Not her.

00:36:22 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 2:

Never a slap on the wrist. Never a moment where you got put outside the classroom.

00:36:28 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 1:

Maybe in first grade, I think I got three check marks next to my name because I was talking to my friend Kelly Kaminsky too much.

00:36:34 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Kelly Kaminsky, call us up.

00:36:37 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 1:

No, she'll call you.

00:36:38 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:36:39 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Cal's call.

00:36:40 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Why'd you get called to the principal's office? What's going on? How you doing, Taylor?

00:36:51 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hi.

00:36:52 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Taylor. What'd you get suspended for or called to the principal's office for?

00:36:56 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 5:

I was doing stick and poke in class. What?

00:37:00 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 3:

What's that?

00:37:02 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 5:

And it was like tattoos, basically. Oh.

00:37:06 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 1:

Wait, how old were you?

00:37:09 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 5:

I was a freshman, so like 16, 15, 16.

00:37:16 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I get that. I get you being in trouble for that.

00:37:18 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 3:

You were tatting people up. You had a tattoo little thing going on there, a non-licensed tattooing. And that's kind of wild. Were you an art major?

00:37:29 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 5:

No. I like to share my own professional, though.

00:37:33 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 2:

How terrible were these tattoos you were doing?

00:37:37 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, I still have all of them. That's amazing. And some of them were with pen ink, not even tattoo ink. It was pen ink.

00:37:45 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 3:

I knew the girl that used to draw on herself all the time. She would always have, like, marks all over herself. She'd draw all over the place. What's up, Sydney? Hi.

00:37:53 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 6:

hi what's going on sydney uh so when i was in high school the last thing that i got uh pulled into the principal's office for was i got in a fight and uh it was so bad that they tried to suspend me for six months and uh yeah it was a it was a wild time what'd you do punch somebody slap somebody oh it was a it was a bad fight it was somebody who disrespected my mom

00:38:24 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 3:

and i was like uh-uh good for you you don't mess around with mom right no you don't uh-uh beat her up i like that uh hold on larry's on with us larry hi how you doing good larry this is like hardcore criminal activity what we're talking about getting called to the principal's

00:38:45 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 4:

00:38:51 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 1:

what were you selling i was selling nothing uh there was a popular song at the time

00:38:59 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 4:

uh where one of the lines was larry was the white guy who made a lot of money real estate investor or a real estate investor that made a lot of money or whatever it was yeah but uh people would sing that when i walk in the classroom so everybody

00:39:11 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Larry. Because it's so funny. It's funny that you say this. I thought maybe, you know, we had a kid that got in trouble. They thought he was doing cocaine, and it was, remember the candy that looked like sugar that came in a little? Pixie sticks. Pixie sticks.

00:39:27 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Yes. The guy's name was not Larry, though. It was just because of the song. It was kind of ridiculous. Larry's got the lines.

00:39:37 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's great. Hold on, Lily. Lily, how old are you, Lily?

00:39:41 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 6:

I'm 13.

00:39:43 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Lily, please tell me that you're not getting called to the principal's office.

00:39:47 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. My principal loves me.

00:39:50 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So then what are you calling for?

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 6:

Okay. So first time, long time. Hey! It's on my phone!

00:40:00 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 5:

and so in kindergarten um i was like a little perfectionist and just like shannon and i would like always sharpen my colored pencils so they would always be perfect but yeah i would never get any work done so then i told my mom after school i got grounded from the colored pencils but in reality i just wasn't allowed to use it for a couple days oh my gosh you're gonna grow

00:40:25 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 3:

00:41:06 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 3:

that's stupid isn't that crazy they would pick on you over the they weren't even saying it right you were just trying to get them to say it right lisa hi hi hi good morning how are you guys this morning we're good lisa please tell me you didn't get called to the or this is about your daughter

00:41:22 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 6:

oh no that's even worse what's going on my youngest daughter yes we got called into the principal or to the school initially to the counselor's office because she wrote a story in spanish about every single one of our family members dying she did this in sort of a protest because she had had initially a spanish um reporter project that she had to do for menu she completed that and turned it in but then the teacher ended up making them do a story for individual family members and what it included so we ended up going to mexico my husband contracted bird flu and died because he died we all became homeless i died because i was living on the street and became homeless my eldest daughter became a prostitute and was murdered and then my youngest daughter who the story was written for lived on the street the rest of the time so they were very concerned about what her motive was thinking this is very dark i was concerned about what my kids

00:42:25 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 3:

are watching now she was hanging out with larry

00:42:29 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 6:

i found it extremely hilarious and my eldest daughter murdered on the street did not find it funny but we ended up having to talk to the principal about it because we're like she completed the project they didn't want to give her a grade and we're like no she completed it and she did it very well you will grade her she ended up getting an a oh my god that is kind

00:42:52 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 3:

00:43:08 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 3:

One last one here. Allie, are you there, Allie?

00:43:13 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 7:

I am.

00:43:15 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Why did you get suspended from school?

00:43:19 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 7:

I got dared by my friends to bring in my kitten at the time. I rode a bus to school, so I just, like, stuck it in my bag on the bus. I made it all the way until the last hour I had choir, and apparently she had heard about it from previous students that I had had a cat, and she sent me to the principal's office. I got suspended for that.

00:43:41 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow. You're bringing your cat to school. Isn't that amazing? Yeah.

00:43:46 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 7:

They were like, people could be allergic to that. And I was like, oh.

00:43:50 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 3:

How old were you at that time before I make the next joke? I'm not saying that.

00:43:55 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I was a senior in high school.

00:43:56 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Did you let all the boys pet your cat?

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 7:

Everybody got to pet the cat that day.

00:44:03 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right. Thank you, Richard.

00:44:09 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 1:

Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses, the second date update, am I the a-hole, or the throwback throwdown?

00:44:20 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 3:

My God. I missed this. I actually did miss this when we were gone. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. Good to have you guys listening to us this morning. Shannon, busted looking at butts.

00:44:44 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 2:

So Smith, my first grader, was on a play date with his little best buddy, who just so happens to be the son of one of my very, very best friends. So we're always in contact with each other, especially when... the boys are together. Smith was over at my friend's house for this play date. And what these boys were not aware of was I guess they had gone like they had played outside for a couple of hours and then she was letting them have some time on the iPad. Well, they were not aware that everything they were doing on the iPad was being screen shared to the tv in the living room where my friend was where mom was cleaning up just you know getting the house together for the day or whatever and she was doing that just so she could kind of monitor what these little conniving seven-year-old boys were doing yeah and sure enough all of a sudden god i gotta get the picture she looks up at the tv and she just sees a huge juicy round booty in a thong on the TV and the boys were looking up. I don't even know who this person is. Livvy Dunn? This is what she saw.

00:46:00 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 4:

This is what she saw. Oh, damn.

00:46:05 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 2:

They got good taste.

00:46:06 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

00:46:09 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 2:

And she was like, she texted me first of course before she busts them. Look at what they're looking at. Look at that. Hashtag Livvy. look at smith man i like it i'm like how did how did the algorithm i mean by the way that is kind

00:46:27 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 3:

of interesting the first it's wild because of i remember i don't know if maybe this is the first but i remember when i was like smith's age and i would see like we had to look in magazines because we didn't have like devices and stuff yeah way back when you'd find somebody's dad's dirty magazines or something and it was it was a buddy of mine's dad's uh sports illustrated swimsuit issue and i will never i don't even know if it was somebody somebody famous or not but i remember i was like sitting there looking at it i was like oh my god and the funny thing is i remember you

00:46:58 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 4:

remember the first time that you feel tingly what is this sensation don't don't let let smith's dad

00:47:06 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 3:

talk to him about that because it's embarrassing if mom talks about it but i'm gonna say this to That Libby Dunn's hot.

00:47:13 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of all magazines, she definitely does. Shout out to LCU and the training staff. They're working hard. Isn't her... Who is she?

00:47:20 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 3:

Her guy is the best pitcher in baseball. Paul Skeens for the Pirates. She's pretty good. Yeah, she's hot. She actually, Shannon, just to give you real quick on her, when she was in college and she was doing her thing, they would have the record-breaking crowds come to see her because every guy wanted to be there. Beautiful. Okay. What were you going to say?

00:47:40 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 4:

I used to be in a barbershop looking at Jet Magazines. They used to have the Beauty of the Week in there around, like, page 45.

00:47:49 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 2:

When you were this age, were you 7 and 8?

00:47:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And now that I think about it, all the guys in there had to know what I was looking at. You don't just buy the magazine for the articles. You buy it for the Beauty of the Week.

00:47:59 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. You're looking at that stuff. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Shout out to Shannon's friend for the fact that she's got the screen share thing going.

00:48:12 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 2:

Busted. So smart.

00:48:13 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 3:

We could go either way on this topic. We could do the first nude or semi-nude that you saw. We could do that, so you can call up with that. Or you can call up with, what did you catch your kids looking at in the screen sharing thing? Because I think that's brilliant on her part as a mom.

00:48:31 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:48:31 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 3:

That's like big brother at its best.

00:48:33 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 2:

It's a good thing she did, because who else, or what else would they have?

00:48:36 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Does she still have that thing on there for, like, her husband, too?

00:48:40 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean?

00:48:41 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 3:

Like, I'd be like, oh, crap, if Chelsea saw me screen sharing some of the stuff that's on my phone.

00:48:46 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 2:

You'd be ashamed.

00:48:47 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 3:

It would be all over.

00:48:48 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 4:

I'll taste my Fonda, but Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda. My Anaconda don't want none unless you got buns, hon. And my butt crack.

00:48:58 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 3:

All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number, 844-665-6548. By the way, texters are texting in right now saying that their kids also were looking at Libby.

00:49:12 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

So why?

00:49:14 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, she's hot, and she's very popular. She's actually one of the most, I think she's got, like, doesn't she have a huge Instagram following?

00:49:24 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 2:

But, like, obviously Smith doesn't have, he doesn't even have, like, social, a phone. An older brother. So, right, and this little boy does. And so that's why I asked him, like, how do you even know who this person is? And he's like, blah. She every weirdo.

00:49:37 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Eve, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:49:41 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I caught my son and a misrepresent neighbor boy on a hardcore porn site. Oh, my God. I sat upstairs to check out, and I almost had a stroke. how old is your son now he's 21 but then he was like 10

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 4:

You know what, though? That's good, clean fun as a 10-year-old.

00:50:06 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, the other kid was never allowed in our house again.

00:50:11 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 4:

What kind of porn are we talking about? Do you remember at all?

00:50:15 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it was at least a double X, if not triple.

00:50:21 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 4:

I love that, by the way. As a mom, you never think that. Imagine what it's like for my wife to have three boys and have to worry about that.

00:50:29 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm thinking, you know, they're playing Minecraft or they're, you know, they're doing Webkinz or something. No.

00:50:36 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 4:

Webkinz. They got those, too. Thank you for the call. Love Kitty. I appreciate it. Yes, have a good day. All right, take care of yourself. Hello Kitty ain't the same. Bye-bye. I text her here. Caught my husband on our screen sharing looking at porn. I never, you know, it's funny. The thing is, I never thought that it's one click away. It's so easy to do. And it goes right on.

00:51:02 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:51:03 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 4:

For those that don't know, the screen sharing thing, if you have like Apple products, you can actually, if you have like an Apple TV or something like that, you can screen share to the big television.

00:51:14 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:51:14 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever been in a situation where you had like somebody that would just roll pictures, photos of things? You got to be careful. If you have, like, the photo frame thing, you got pictures of you doing some nasty stuff. What's going on, Stacey? How you doing? Hi, Stacey. Oh, I lost you. Oh, I hung up on you, Stacey.

00:51:38 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Call us back.

00:51:39 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. I know. Boomy. Boomy for that. What's up, Jordan? What's going on, Jordan? How are you?

00:51:49 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 3:

So, I was probably seven, eight years old. I thought the wall in the back corner was an arcade of the video store.

00:52:00 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah?

00:52:01 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it was the pod. You lied. You're still telling this lie. No, I seriously did. I had no idea. I walked back and it's like, oh, my gosh, I shouldn't be here. But why am I not leaving?

00:52:15 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 4:

So that's the thing that kids nowadays don't get. they don't get the fun of the porn wall or the back room with the beat. Remember? The Springs of Beat. Hollywood video. Yeah. And Waterford used to have that back room there. And then you would go.

00:52:31 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 3:

Mojo keeps doing like twinkly jazz hands, by the way, talking about things.

00:52:35 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 4:

I would walk in there and I'd go, who's in here?

00:52:40 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 3:

The only reason I left is I heard my mom. It's like,

00:52:45 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 4:

Jordan!

00:52:47 - 00:52:48 | Unknown:

Get away from there!

00:52:50 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 4:

Stacey's back. Hi, Stacey.

00:52:52 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo.

00:52:54 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

00:52:55 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 1:

I caught my daughter and her friend, like they were six or seven, looking at my husband's dirty magazine. Oh, boy. And I threatened to tell her mom if they ever did it again, which I never would. I was so embarrassed. I was like, how could I tell her mom that I caught them looking at dirty magazine?

00:53:12 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

00:53:13 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 1:

And they were only six or seven. Oh, wow.

00:53:15 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 4:

Thank God they weren't looking at your dirty magazine, Stacey.

00:53:18 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 3:

by the way what horrible hiding spot was your husband putting them that your six-year-old was

00:53:25 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 1:

able to find them they were just in a drawer in the bedroom because we didn't expect them to go

00:53:30 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 4:

through the stuff yeah you know what's interesting uh women had uh what was it play uh girl magazine for women and it was like uh just guys just sitting there you know with their dongs hanging And I thought to myself, oh, I thought, that's just kind of an interesting one. I mean, but why would I think any differently for the women? It was just them with their boobs hanging out and stuff. Is that what you like, Shannon?

00:53:55 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 3:

What? Just Don?

00:53:56 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever subscribe to Playgirl?

00:53:59 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 3:

No, I did not.

00:54:02 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 4:

Don, what's going on, Don?

00:54:05 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 3:

Nothing much. Just calling in. I was about, man, 12 years old. My mom, she's like, go hang out with the neighbor. He's the, you know, labor man working on the house. He's like, you know, she's like, go learn how to be a man.

00:54:18 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:54:19 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 3:

Find dirty magazines in his little stash. And I'm like, oh, this is what I need to learn.

00:54:25 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so the guy would bring him to work with him? He would bring his dirty magazines with him?

00:54:31 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I found like a little stash next to the toolbox. I'm like, you know, screw the, screw the, this is what I need to do.

00:54:38 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 4:

Quick question. What are you doing nowadays for work?

00:54:43 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm a truck driver.

00:54:45 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 4:

I was going to see if you rubbed off on you. I'm going to choose your occupation. Voice disguise initial A. Are you there?

00:54:54 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:54:55 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi. We're talking about when you're a kid and you're.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 5:

Did you see your first naked people? What's going on?

00:55:03 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so my 12-year-old, I don't know why I went on his phone. I was trying to check on it or he fell asleep with it or something. But when I unlocked it, there was some weird-looking Final Fantasy anime cartoon-looking porn. Oh, boy.

00:55:20 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 5:

I never got into cartoon porn.

00:55:22 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 3:

No, he's like...

00:55:23 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 5:

Really? So I hear. There is no way that cartoon porn can get you as tingly as the regular porn. No.

00:55:30 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 3:

It looks pretty good, I guess. I mean, I'm not really into porn, but it was okay.

00:55:35 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think it'd take a certain type of person to activate that particular genre.

00:55:40 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 2:

I was not even aware that there is anime porn. They do things regular people can't do.

00:55:46 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 5:

I think it's weird. I don't know. If you found out that your guy was looking at anime porn, wouldn't you think that your guy was a little weird? Yeah. You got to look at it in VR, though. It's different in there. I can't do the whole VR thing with that. That just seems weird.

00:56:02 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 4:

I pulled up a sight in my Oculus before, and it was like he was in the iMac. It was like he was right there.

00:56:09 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 5:

Were you grabbing his ear?

00:56:10 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was like, I'm telling you, it was insane.

00:56:13 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, we got to end this topic. Kids are going to school. Don't miss this.

00:56:18 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:30 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30 this morning. Shannon, hi.

00:58:33 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 2:

So Morgan Wallen appeared as the musical guest on SNL over the weekend alongside host, actress Mikey Madison. Performed two songs, including this one. And then as everybody does, you know, the whole cast and crew and the host and the musical guest, they gather on stage at the end of the show. It's like a mission. He whispers something into host Mikey Madison's ear, gives her a quick hug, and then just walks off the stage. Thank you so much to Morgan Wallen. I had a wonderful time. Thank you all. Bye. Walks right past the camera and out. And soon after, he shared a photo on his Instagram stories from his private plane with the caption, Get me to God's country, written over the image of the runway. And you can see another plane in the background. And so some people were saying, oh, he was so rude. It was so disrespectful. I don't know. People told me that that's how he was. That was the same way that he entered and exited the New York City studio all week when he was there for, like, practices and camera blocking and all. That's just who he is I don't know

00:59:43 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 5:

Is this just another one of those things Where people on the internet Just like to hate people And like to put stuff on social media

00:59:48 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 2:

It was kind of strange Because most people stay up there And then go to the after party or whatever

00:59:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

What if you whisper in the ear like I gotta do this I mean You need to get out of there

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 1:

Maybe he did. It was an emergency.

01:00:02 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 3:

Have you heard this? This is a new song from Morgan Wallen. Do you like this song?

01:00:07 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 1:

I like all Morgan Wallen songs. I think they're all catchy.

01:00:11 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 3:

I just want to love someone. I always wonder with country artists, how many country artists do you think fake the sound of their little accent? Like the country? You know how they do that? I bet there's a chunk of them. I just want to love someone. Instead of they're like, I just want to love someone.

01:00:34 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 1:

Does he sound like this? Well, look at Keith Urban. He's from Australia.

01:00:37 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 3:

But he's got a country twang. Are they trying to make it sound more country? Good song, though.

01:00:48 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 1:

All right. Another story I'm so invested in right now. This Sydney Sweeney and her former co-star, the very hot Glenn Powell, reuniting in Dallas just days after Sydney called off her wedding to her fiancé, Jonathan DeVino. Now, remember, there were rumors that something was going on between these two when they were filming their Netflix movie, Anyone But You. They were all over each other all the time, on and off the set. They were on boats together. They went to restaurants and bars together. I mean, clearly there was something there. So fans spot Sydney in Dallas with Glenn at his sister Leslie's wedding rehearsal dinner. and while people were going just absolutely wild that they were attending a sister's wedding together i did get an update of what's really going on here and it's not true she was there with her best friend they actually rsvp'd months ago way before she and her fiance postponed their own wedding so a source of mine telling me sydney is actually really close with the powell family very close with glenn's sister has been for a long time before they even made the movie I still think they're hooking up, but that's just me personally. As for her relationship with her fiancé, they're still together trying to work through some issues. They haven't thrown in the towel yet, but they did call off their wedding that was supposed to happen in May. President Donald Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term in the White House, which, in case he did not pay attention in history class, is prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment.

01:02:17 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm just telling you, I have had more people say, please run again. I said, we have a long way to go before we even think about that. But I've had a lot of people.

01:02:27 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 1:

Said he is not actively doing anything about that now as he is focused on present matters. And yesterday.

01:02:33 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning has tremendous ratings. That I can tell you.

01:02:37 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 1:

Should have left some space for him.

01:02:39 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry.

01:02:39 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

I apologize.

01:02:41 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 1:

Gotta leave a little something on the back end for the press.

01:02:44 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That's fake. Yeah. Sorry.

01:02:48 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 1:

And yesterday, five players and two coaches ejected after a fight broke out in the second quarter of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

01:02:56 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 3:

The Malice, not in the Palace.

01:02:58 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 1:

Win against the Pistons. Yeah, we lost J.B. Bickerstaff, Isaiah Stewart, Ron Holland, and guard Marcus Sasser. Everybody got ejected.

01:03:07 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 4:

Holland was a really good high school player. Good three. Turned the corner and is fouled by Holland. Man. Oh, come on now.

01:03:18 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 3:

David's big-time role now in the front row it's gonna take a lot to break this up

01:03:29 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 1:

there's a fan right there too right that was caught up in it lots of things

01:03:34 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 4:

right in the stands the coaches are getting into it the coaches are

01:03:38 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 1:

literally fighting with each other now too And by the way, Aaron was right there, the new owner, co-owner of the Timberwolves.

01:03:50 - 01:03:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:03:50 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 1:

He was sitting like 20 feet away from where this happened.

01:03:53 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

I was so bummed out that they, right after the fight, got off to a huge lead and they ended up blowing it. They had like no players. Only 10 guys suited up for the game and then they lost all their players because of this.

01:04:04 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 2:

We were on a three-game winning streak. I love it though. This is that Detroit energy, bad boy energy coming back. But Dante DiVincenzo, I would say, escalated the situation. If anybody has dubbed a penalty, it should be him. But Isaiah Stewart always showing love and showing up for his guys. It's what it gets, man.

01:04:20 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

So you said to me off the air, and Kevin and I have a bet. The bet is I said that there's going to be some suspensions. Kevin says nobody's going to get suspended. How do you see it that nobody, and you know the NBA more than I do. You're around the NBA every single day with the Pistons. How do you think nobody's going to get suspended out of seven getting kicked out of the game in a fight in the stands?

01:04:42 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 2:

I think some things take place during the game that stay during the game. As long as there are no punches thrown, I don't see a reason why anyone should get suspended. But they threw guys out, though.

01:04:51 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 1:

And you think that's it?

01:04:52 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

That's why I made the statement of what happens in the game should stay in the game. You already dealt the penalty by kicking him out the game. game again nobody was injured no punches were thrown so i don't see a reason to prolong a

01:05:05 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 3:

sentence i'm going to the game with dr reynolds reynolds orthodontics ding shout out dr reynolds he's got great seats he's got floor seats he's taking me and my buddy will to the game on saturday yeah i may be seeing basically the motor city cruise because everybody's going to be suspended it when is kade getting back from i don't know injury kade and uh and what's his

01:05:28 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Tobias Harris. Tobias Harris. Yeah, Tobias is dealing with some Achilles tendonitis type of issues. Kane's got a calf thing. But we're in the playoffs. John Morant will be here on Saturday. That's the game you're going to. So this should be a good one. I'm excited.

01:05:39 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 1:

01:06:16 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't sound that bad to me. Oh, yes, he does. He sounds horrible. Yeah.

01:06:20 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Hang on one second.

01:07:25 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:07:26 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

All right. You're welcome. Mojo on the morning show. Mojo with Shannon, Megan under the weather, so she's not in with us this morning. We've got Kev. We've got Lydia, Bianca, Zach. And did Kev commit a dating foul? I need like a referee's whistle in the studio for when somebody does this. Did Kev commit a little, like, dating red flag here? I don't think so. On the show that does second date updates. Listen to what this guy does. He's now Mr. Dating Guy, not paying attention to what some of our listeners do that gets them in trouble.

01:08:06 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't think this is a dating file, and I also don't think I'm the only person that has done this before. I took two different people to the same place. Now, this is two completely different days. This isn't the same type of situation like that. But if you have a place that you frequent, a place you feel comfortable, a place you like, I don't see a problem with taking multiple people to that place. But a friend of mine, I was on the phone with her. I'm like, yeah, I'm going to blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. She's like, didn't you just do that with X, Y, Z? I'm like, yeah. She's like, see, this is why I'm on date, guys. There's no uniqueness to my experience. You're just recycling the experience that you've already provided for someone else.

01:08:46 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:08:46 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, it's not that deep. Like, let's go have a great time at a place I know we're going to have a great time at. Why does it have to be, you can't take this person here if you've already taken someone there. Why does it have to be like that?

01:08:57 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 1:

But is it, is it your always first day spot?

01:09:00 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 2:

No, it's just a place I like.

01:09:01 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm right, aren't I? Is it, is it the restaurant or is that the place that you always take a first date? That is your safe space. You know what you're going to order. You know, it's going to be good. It's a good vibe. See, I don't like that. Why? And I'm not the type that says, like, oh, because you took a girl to this restaurant, you can't ever take anybody else there. But the fact that you have a set first date spot to me is ick.

01:09:27 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 2:

So if I go to this place without a date just because I enjoy it. It's fine. That's fine? Yeah. All right. So what's the problem? It's not like the only time I go to this place is for dates. Can you tell me if you've ever taken any of us there? Because I want to know. No, y'all ain't never been there. I want to know if this is the only place that you actually ever eat at. No, it's not that type of situation.

01:09:49 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

So I dated a guy for a very long time, and I found out that the place that we had our first date, which was very special to me, and every time we had, like, we celebrated an...

01:10:00 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 4:

anniversary or something we went there was the same restaurant that he took every other girl that he had taken a first date on a first date to before we actually started dating and when i found that out i was like oh that's kind of not special to me anymore like i thought that was our thing

01:10:13 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 6:

that's a that's deep that's a good way to look at this is this is a a very kev thing to do if we is it sweet water no no no it's okay if we had a second date update kevin if we had a second date update and we had a list listeners that called in and said or this listener you know that does a second date update says the reason i'm not going on a date with him is the waitress told me that he brings you know all his dates to this place we would all come down on the guy you big dummy why are you doing this it gives me yeah it's an egg i don't well why though i'm still

01:10:49 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 5:

not understanding the why just because somebody else came there no because exactly nobody else

01:10:54 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 6:

wants to uh to go where you know somebody else is hanging out that's ridiculous why so say for

01:10:59 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 5:

example like you talked about you're going to the basketball game with dr reynolds right yes say for example it was a dating situation where he always took his dates to basketball games because he's got season tickets that's a bad thing that would be honestly a cheesy move too

01:11:12 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 6:

and he's he's definitely classier than that to bring them all to the same uh to the same thing that's crazy because here because here's the problem here's the problem you're then going become known as the hoe at the place you probably already are why though because you're bringing

01:11:25 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 5:

them to the same place all the time don't you want to be in an environment where you feel

01:11:29 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 4:

comfortable and you enjoy the food for sure but you only have one of those but what's wrong with

01:11:34 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 5:

a spot because look because here's the thing if you don't like the person and quote unquote it's your first date at least you're gonna like the vibe and the atmosphere but if you okay so let's

01:11:44 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 4:

put it on you if you have a terrible experience there with a date every time you go back to that restaurant aren't you gonna be like man i still have the vibe of like her monkey don't stop no

01:11:52 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 6:

show my favorite my favorite is the waitresses all think that this guy is one big freaking hoe uh what's up shannon how you doing shannon doing pretty good how are you guys doing oh this is uh this is guy shannon what do you think yes it is what oh you're gonna stick up for kevin probably

01:12:10 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 1:

um sort of so uh i did this before too um and and you know mostly i talked to you know i was talking to the people that i was dating at the time and be like hey what type of food do you want and kind of like broke it down to like where i'd take them to um but other than that i mean as long as he's doing it you know just to have conversation just to get to know the person everything that's cool uh he might get a reputation from the people that work at the place yeah uh you know i mean i worked at a hotel and a lot of times there's people we'd you know they'd have a reputation there too so as long as you're not doing it you know like at a hotel hold on you had you worked

01:12:45 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 6:

at a hotel and guys would bring the same girls or different girls to the same hotel to to i'm obviously they're doing hotel things yeah yep oh yeah definitely and you guys as people checking i guess what what did he have like a marriott boing voyage uh account or something like that

01:13:03 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 1:

uh so they would pay in cash all the time yeah and then uh they would always have different girls that would always come with them so they definitely had a reputation some of them did did have points

01:13:16 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 6:

and point systems so what what hotel are we talking about is it one of the roadside motels

01:13:21 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 1:

or is it a nice hotel no it was a nicer one it was uh hampton inn okay all right

01:13:26 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 6:

that that's hampton inn is not a place you bring a date it's a place you bring your business accounts you know what i mean like right you know you don't you don't go there to uh to you know fool around with somebody uh what's up michelle hi hi michelle this guy puts morning this guy puts no effort into anything he does the same dates for everyone just numbers everybody's just

01:13:52 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 2:

a number good morning sweetheart i love you to death i love listening to you but honey When you take them to the same place, you are phoning it in. You are making zero effort whatsoever. Not special.

01:14:05 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:14:06 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 5:

How is it phoning it in?

01:14:07 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Not special at all. The place may not be special, but our connection is. You know what? Because, but you know what? Maybe this restaurant that you all, like, okay, you know what? I'm sorry. I love you. I don't like wings. So I don't want you to take me to Sweetwater. I want you to take me to Sweetwater.

01:14:23 - 01:14:23 | Unknown:

I don't want to go.

01:14:25 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 6:

It is not Sweetwater. That's just the place we just like. He just eats there.

01:14:30 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 3:

I want you to pick some Wednesday. Here he comes. Different girl.

01:14:33 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 6:

You imagine what this guy's digestive system is like when he's eating wings every day of the week. DeAndre, what's up? Are you also sticking up?

01:14:43 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 4:

Do you wear the same outfit, too, to the same restaurant? It comes with celery.

01:14:47 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 6:

Probably, Shannon. What's up, DeAndre? What's going on?

01:14:51 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Nothing much. So my question for Kevin was, like, what if the waitress, like, blows his cover and says, like, nice to see you again, Kevin. I'm like, what is he supposed to do then? Just be lying.

01:15:00 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 4:

nice to see you too

01:15:01 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 2:

keep it moving yeah but like

01:15:03 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

what if she says like oh who is this person like do you have like or if he calls her

01:15:07 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 2:

or if they look similar what if he says or she says the wrong name

01:15:11 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 1:

oh nice to see you again yeah that's doing too much

01:15:14 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 4:

yeah you know like do you got a backup plan for that like what if she calls the lady of the wrong name exactly you know

01:15:19 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 2:

you got an excuse for that things to think about huh yeah he's not thought about it I guarantee you uh what's up Keith how you doing

01:15:28 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 4:

hey guys how's it going good keith and so i'm a local dj here in detroit area and i've been around here like 20 years and there's a spot that i go to and there's been so much drama there and i i've taken several girls to this place and it's just been like it it is not good like do not do that like go to a new spot where nobody knows you because it it's it's not a good start you know it's just you know i don't know man so i mean keep doing what you're doing but i do the same thing i run into cycles like that i do the same cycles i figured out that yes i'm part of the toxicity now

01:16:18 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 2:

hold on a second here ashlyn you're a bartender and you see this a lot at your restaurant that

01:16:33 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 3:

you work at oh yeah there is actually one specific guest that frequents our restaurant and he would bring in different girls and we would all be like oh hey and like say his name but then, like, have to pretend like he wasn't just there the night before with somebody else. And now he's, like, in a committed relationship. And it's, like, as bartenders and servers, like, we already know a lot of your business.

01:17:01 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:17:02 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 3:

So it's just super awkward. He better tip well.

01:17:04 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 2:

Otherwise, you should blow his cover.

01:17:07 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, but I don't even know this one's name.

01:17:11 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest? you don't want to do what kevin's doing because if you find the one and you then now likes this restaurant you can't go back there because what if one of the past dates that you went on goes i remember i dated this guy that took me to this place let's all go there and then they go there and see you there again so yeah you don't think that that's actually something that could happen

01:17:33 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 3:

i think if i'm gonna go ahead kevin is saying that he wants like somewhere where he's comfortable But he's also not considering that the girl is going somewhere new and uncomfortable. So I think that should be a first experience for both of you.

01:17:49 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

Great point. See that? He doesn't care. There we go. Great point. Very valid perspective. We'll talk to you later. Have a great day, Ashlyn.

01:18:00 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 4:

He kicked his nose. He smelled. He made her pay. What the hell happened? Second date update happens after 8 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:18:10 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's coming up here in just a little bit. There's a guy named Kev. He's on a date with a girl. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. You can check out our podcast by going to the iHeartRadio app. Just search Mojo in the Morning. We got three different podcasts we would love for you to put up on the presets there on the iHeartRadio app. Right at the top, you can preset all our stations. So whatever city you live in or maybe if you don't live in any of the cities that we broadcast, you can actually preset the city's stations so you can listen to us live. And then our Mojo in the Morning show, which is the show that you're hearing right now, or the Roses second date update, dirties, all that stuff. Then the More Mojo podcast, it's the after show podcast where we give you a behind the scenes look at what's going on here. And then last but not least, the We Don't podcast, which is a podcast that I do with my wife, Chelsea, talk about relationship stuff and kind of get into, you know, raising kids and all the craziness. So go preset those and put them up there, and we would love for you to do that. Matter of fact, if you need help doing it, we'll walk you through it so you can call us here. I just got back from being off. Shannon, you did too. Please tell me that yours was not as bad as mine was with the amount of people that were still calling me from work.

01:19:24 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:19:25 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 2:

Really? So you completely got a chance to shut off then?

01:19:28 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 1:

I mean, there were a few emails here and there, but nothing crazy. And I was in no rush to respond to anybody.

01:19:33 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I had, I had, uh, so I, so it was, it was, you know, uh, vacation. So I had, um, all salespeople call, uh, calling me or texting me, which is, uh, almost as bad as that. Cause you feel like you have to answer the text messages or calls. You just kind of let it go to voicemail and then you can say I was on vacation. Um, I had a client, some clients that contacted, which I'm good with that. They spend money.

01:20:00 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 3:

I'll do that. I'll take their call. And then I also, I work with other radio morning shows, some of them in the company, and I had some of them calling and their program directors calling. So this was interesting. So this was actually not one of our salespeople that did this. So I don't want Colleen or Kim to get mad at them. But they did call me numerous times.

01:20:20 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 4:

I just throw that in there one more time.

01:20:23 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 3:

Numerous. Hashtag Alicia. So this one was interesting, though. So when you're on vacation, do you set one of those notes that says, I'm on vacation, I'll return your email afterwards? Because I don't know how to do that.

01:20:37 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

I used to. Yeah, no, I didn't do that.

01:20:40 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 3:

So one of the shows that I work with, program director, he will call me all the time and ask me questions. Like he'll call me and go, hey, what do you think of this? Or like he'll run ideas by me or he'll say he heard something on the show and he wanted to know what my thought was before he goes in and says something to them, whatever. And so he asked me as somebody that does a morning show, like, how would I feel if a program director did this? So he kept calling me earlier in the week. Well, at the end of the week, I was replying to him on something that he had talked to me about earlier in the week. And so I called him and it went right to voicemail. And then I quickly get a text back saying, I'll call you or on vacation, we'll call you monday when i get back into the office are you like wait i was like hey son of a bitch you called me non-stop monday tuesday and even wednesday but on thursday and friday now you're suddenly on vacation and he knew i was on vacation because he was like oh what you're doing i go i'm on vacation so he's like doing this thing and i thought to myself huh the goose and the gander

01:21:48 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 4:

i think oh i would have just continuously facetimed him yes no way oh shannon you got my

01:21:55 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 3:

total you and i are very we're we know each other this is where i become passive very passive aggressive i got your petty pants on i was i called i texted i facetimed i tagged him in an instagram post i'm like this guy's gonna hear from me i'm gonna make up for all lost time um do do you work first uh for a boss that calls you when you're off like if you work if you work for a boss that does that i want you to call us up right now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want you to shout out the boss that calls you when you're off and tells you stuff about work when you're not even supposed to be talking so fired no like i want you to i want you to do that you ever have those guys that you've ever have you ever worked for one of those bosses that does that, but then all of a sudden doesn't want you to call them when they're on vacation or off? I mean, you call me when you're on vacation.

01:22:50 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I— You call me— That's the last time you can ask. He calls you. But last week I was sick and you called. I'm like, bro, I'm sick. But what did I call for? To see how I was feeling. I'm sick. I don't want to talk. I'm sick. I called checking up on you, seeing if you're okay. Just send a text. But here's the thing. Just for that, I'm never calling you ever again. With the iPhone, though, you bring up a great point about the OOs, the out-of-office.

01:23:14 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:23:15 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 2:

Why can't we set that up on our personal devices if I'm going to vacation?

01:23:18 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, this guy obviously did. He had it all pre-planned. Copy your face. He must. No, he must. I don't know how they do it. You ever have that where you can send back a text and you can actually write them back, like, one of the response texts?

01:23:29 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 4:

It's just automated.

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 3:

Maybe he has it as one of his response texts.

01:23:32 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 4:

That's what you got to set up next time you're on vacation.

01:23:35 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to. Out-of-office.

01:23:37 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 4:

But I also think it is hard for you to be completely out of office. You may physically not be here, but I feel like you still like to have that connection.

01:23:50 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hey, Mojo in the morning. Hello. I'm on a break right now. Who's this? Hi. Oh, it's Mark. Hi, Mark. How you doing, buddy?

01:24:01 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 1:

McEvitt?

01:24:02 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 3:

Good.

01:24:02 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 1:

How are you guys?

01:24:03 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Mark?

01:24:05 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 1:

Hey, you guys are talking about bosses calling you after you were on vacation?

01:24:09 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:24:10 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so my wife had my first child. He's one month old yesterday. Oh, nice. And my boss called me the day after she had him when I was on paternity leave and asked me if I wanted to get out of the house and do some work.

01:24:25 - 01:24:26 | Unknown:

Wait.

01:24:27 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait, your wife literally just pushed that baby out, and he's asking you if you wanted to.

01:24:33 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 2:

The very next day.

01:24:33 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

He was, what, he tried to make it seem like you would probably want to do this because you're so...

01:24:39 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. Stuck. Absolutely. He's like, you want to get out of the house? Oh, my God. No.

01:24:47 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 3:

Your wife would have killed you. That's what I said.

01:24:49 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:24:50 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 3:

My wife would have killed me. How much paternity leave did you take?

01:24:54 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

You know, my company gave me two weeks. I used 40 hours of my PTO after that. So I.

01:25:00 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 4:

It took three weeks. Wow. And then the fourth week, he was pretty cool about it. He gave me a lot of jobs. I do a lot of construction material testing, so I don't have to be there for the full day. Good for you, by the way. That's a little excessive, though. Why do you say that? You would never say that about a woman on maternity. Good for the company. She gave birth to the baby.

01:25:20 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 3:

Good for the company for giving you two weeks, though.

01:25:23 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 4:

This guy pushed out semen. He doesn't need to go. That's all he did. We provide life. They provide birth. Did you help your wife the entire time changing diapers or did you sit on your ass and watch? Or letting her sleep? Do you play video games all the time? Absolutely, 100%. Call her up. I want to talk to her.

01:25:35 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm 100% into it.

01:25:36 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 4:

Do you hear, Keith?

01:25:37 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 3:

Does this sound like a guy that lies?

01:25:39 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 4:

This is Mark. I'm telling you. You hear, Mark? I think he's lying. I think he's lying. I want your wife to call me back and tell me if that's the case. Initial C. Hi, you're being voice disguised.

01:25:49 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, my dad was starting hospice there, and I took the day off to do the intake, and my boss called me probably five or six times within a span of an hour.

01:25:59 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:26:01 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 5:

That is horrible. Can you stop?

01:26:03 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my. Your dad was dying and your boss is calling you from work. Did he know your dad was dying?

01:26:11 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. He had cancer, so it was a slow decline. And finally, he's starting hospice. So I'm like, hey, I'm taking the day off. We're starting hospice. This is the end.

01:26:20 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's awful. That's a horrible thing. Do you still work for the guy?

01:26:26 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 2:

I do.

01:26:27 - 01:26:27 | Unknown:

I do.

01:26:27 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. What kind of work does he do? Let's call his ass out.

01:26:31 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 2:

Work for the state.

01:26:33 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 4:

The state.

01:26:34 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 3:

This is the government calling you. You know those websites where you can just send, like, doo-doo? This is, like, the type of person you send doo-doo to.

01:26:41 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 4:

What's up? Initial M wants to be voice disguised. Hi, M.

01:26:45 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I have to be voice disguised because I work for the state of Michigan. Another one?

01:26:52 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Same boss.

01:26:53 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 1:

It is coming. I was in the pool in Florida, and my boss was calling me.

01:27:01 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:27:01 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 1:

Asking me to hop on meeting.

01:27:03 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 4:

I'm calling Big Gretchen.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 1:

And asking me to respond at email.

01:27:05 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. So the last caller was also a state worker, and you're a state worker too, and they call you on break. Government. That's funny. I would think that the government would know better than that. That's amazing.

01:27:17 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, they're supposed to, and we're hourly workers, so it's not like we're salaries.

01:27:22 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, when they call you, do you get paid? Do you get to write that down as an hour?

01:27:26 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 1:

Nope.

01:27:27 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's BS. That's awful. That's embarrassing. Somebody just said, hey, isn't Megan sick today? You should call and check in. Call her, please.

01:27:36 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 5:

I've already tried texting and no response, so I think she might be out.

01:27:40 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 4:

Kevin doesn't want me checking on him when he's sick. Maybe Megan would be happy if I checked just to see how she's doing. What's up, Mandy?

01:27:47 - 01:28:06 | Speaker 5:

Hi, yeah, so I wanted to comment. I had a pretty horrific boss. My brother was 32. I found him deceased in his apartment, and it was a Thursday night. And my boss, when I called her and told her I wasn't coming in to work, she asked me if I was still going to submit payroll.

01:28:07 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's unreal.

01:28:11 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was pretty messed up. I almost quit my job that day, but I had to plan ahead.

01:28:19 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 4:

But you and the previous caller from, you know, whose dad was in hospice. I mean, your loved one dies. That's crazy, man. Well, I'm sorry.

01:28:29 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Oh, thank you.

01:28:31 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 4:

That's awful. Sorry for your loss, too. That's got to be horrible.

01:28:34 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 3:

They say we got to get payroll.

01:28:36 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy. Where do you if they work for the state, too? I'm moving on to states. I'm not dealing with this. WKQI Detroit.

01:28:44 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 5:

Get back out of war, take it.

01:28:44 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:28:50 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:28:52 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 4:

Live.

01:28:54 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 5:

Mojo.

01:28:55 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 4:

30.

01:28:56 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 5:

30. 30. 30. 30. 30. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

01:29:04 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:29:08 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

01:29:10 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:29:12 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hat. let's go all right it is mojo in the morning good to have you guys here with us phone numbers 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text is 95500 coming up this hour on the show second date update why are you not getting a call back we're gonna find out also on the way uh zach and kev you stuck in the parking garage uh shannon just the three of us and i gotta talk about the non-manly thing that i did when i didn't have my friends back who got into a fight i actually said my name is bennett and

01:30:00 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 2:

I ain't in it. And I'll tell you that story coming up here this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. But first, can we talk about Lydia traveling to go meet a guy?

01:30:11 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 1:

That is not what I did exactly.

01:30:14 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh. Lydia. Well, first off, this is almost like a second date update gone wrong, although the date never happened. So what happened, Lydia?

01:30:21 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, actually, I planned a trip to Arizona to see my best friend. And then luckily, I was able to shadow the John Jay and Rich show in Phoenix. Shout out to John, Jay, and Rich. Yeah, shout out to him. And then I also had made plans to see this guy and his family and have dinner with them.

01:30:39 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 3:

A little desert dig.

01:30:40 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 4:

And this is the guy that you've been kind of talking to a little bit?

01:30:43 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

We've been in communication. Yeah. And my family knows his family just through a client. And things seemed to be fine until a week before. So I had landed in Tampa, and he asked if he could call me. and I was thinking that maybe he was just going to ask me about reservations or something he had planned for when I got to Phoenix. And the first thing he said when I picked up the phone was, what kind of nuts do you like in your mouth? And I was like, what? And he doubled down and he's like, yeah, what kind of nuts do you like in your mouth when you get here in Arizona? And upon response, I was just like, oh, I like pistachios. And he's like, yeah, I'm not talking about Wait, wait, wait, wait.

01:31:24 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 2:

What was he doing? He was calling you basically to, was he at home or something like that?

01:31:30 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 1:

No, he was at the grocery store. I could hear like cashiers in the background and I'm like, did you just say this to me?

01:31:36 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so he was actually buying nuts for you.

01:31:38 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 1:

No, that is not something you say to a woman.

01:31:43 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 2:

He said, so he said to you, hold on a second, stop for one second. This guy says to you, what kind of nuts do you like?

01:31:52 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 1:

But then he says, in your mouth. In my mouth.

01:31:56 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 3:

Has y'all conversation ever went in that direction, or was this completely out the door?

01:32:01 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 1:

No, this was way out the window. I'm really uncomfortable talking sexually with men in general, and I think that he knew that. So to talk to me like that was like a complete blindside to me.

01:32:14 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 2:

That is crazy.

01:32:15 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 4:

Especially when you have just landed in the city where he lives and you know you're going to hang. Oh, OK.

01:32:21 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 1:

This was the city before because I went from Tampa to Phoenix.

01:32:24 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, OK. OK.

01:32:26 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And he wasn't joking.

01:32:28 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

Still.

01:32:28 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 1:

He was joking after he doubled down and knew I was upset because he apologized. And I don't think that he meant it too derogatory, but I took it that way. I got the ick.

01:32:39 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And so you canceled the date because of that?

01:32:43 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I did because I didn't feel comfortable. How long y'all been talking? I canceled the plans.

01:32:47 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 3:

How long y'all been talking?

01:32:49 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, define talking. You too. There's no such thing. To me, there's no such thing as talking if I haven't been on a date with you.

01:32:57 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 4:

How long have you been in communication with him?

01:32:59 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 1:

Like three weeks, month?

01:33:01 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So it's been three weeks of planning. And he's planning for you to go out and visit him. Were you going to stay with him or were you staying in a hotel?

01:33:10 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no way. I was staying in a hotel.

01:33:11 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so he was just getting snacks for... I'm still on the fact that this guy was just getting snacks.

01:33:18 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 4:

I would get the ick instantly as well.

01:33:19 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

The same exact thing. What kind of nuts do you like in your mouth?

01:33:23 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 3:

These nuts.

01:33:25 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

You don't even know somebody that well?

01:33:27 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 3:

But I'm saying they probably talk all the time. Like a month doesn't sound long, but if I'm talking to you and we face time every single day, that's a while.

01:33:35 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 4:

Right, but if that's not the way that he's talked to me over the past couple of weeks, and all of a sudden now I'm getting ready to come visit you and that's the crap that you're saying to me, I would get super creeped out.

01:33:47 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 3:

You got to leave breadcrumbs, you know what I mean, just to see if she bites.

01:33:50 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, before you pull out the nuts in the mouth. Jesus.

01:33:56 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

What the hell is he thinking?

01:33:57 - 01:33:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm with you, Lydia. He was ready, bro.

01:33:59 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 1:

I was going to accept his apology, and then there was a disagreement that we had afterwards when I said it made me uncomfortable. I was like, listen, this made me uncomfortable. I don't even know how I feel about getting dinner.

01:34:08 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what are your thoughts on this one uh so you did not go meet him you went all the way out there and you just what you just I know you were hanging out with Peyton from John Jay and Rich's show so you just hung out with your our radio friends yeah okay so boy that sucks that's the thing that sucks you guys all do this and and I've talked to you guys before you travel out of state to go meet these guys or go on vacations with these guys and you put yourselves in a very to me i don't i think it's too much too fast but i obviously we all

01:34:43 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

knew that lydia was going to do this and i i i feel like you did the right thing by you you made no plans to stay with him you had your own plans you had your own hotel you were going to see a friend like there were other things that you were going to do right and he

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 1:

He didn't pay for any. He didn't do the flight or the hotel room. No. What is going on with these guys?

01:35:05 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 4:

This is just going to be a dinner, you guys. This is a dinner and a couple of times.

01:35:09 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 1:

No, I had to ask, because if you're getting flued out and he's paying for the flight. I'm just saying. Oh, dude.

01:35:14 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 3:

He did go to a performing arts school, didn't he?

01:35:17 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 1:

If he paid for the flight and the hotel, then no wonder why he's saying.

01:35:22 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't go out to dinner with you if you said flued out.

01:35:25 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm saying. It's a culturally appropriate term, guys. This is how the kids are saying it these days. Hey, come on. I promise you, Lydia. I know many. Lydia, tell these old heads that that's how people talk. I know. I know. I have black friends. Lydia. And my black friends don't say flewed out. Lydia. Yes, Kevin. Am I crazy in how I use the term? Float out? Float out. I can't even ask you. Flown. It's flown. I can't even ask you. No, it's not. Yes, it is. I got flown out. That's what I was saying. No, listen. Text 95500. Tell them I'm not. Float is not a word. Dude, that is not a word. I'm not saying you're going to find it in Miriam's Webster's, but that's how people talk.

01:36:05 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 4:

These are the kind of guys that we have to deal with.

01:36:08 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 1:

I said to Lydia, I go, Lydia, as a father of sons, I'm having a discussion with my sons. They are going to boot camp. It's going to be called How to Treat a Girl Boot Camp. I'm sorry. TC, are you there?

01:36:23 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'm there. Y'all didn't hear me. I was commenting all the time. I was talking.

01:36:26 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 1:

I didn't hear you.

01:36:27 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

what's going on oh my god lydia wait wait real quick real quick before you talk about lydia flewed out have you ever said flewed out no it's flown i'm sorry it's flown out i've been flown out that's the right way to say i'm not saying it the right way okay tc thank you and what do you want to say to lydia go ahead lydia run from him don't you call that dude back again because that was some creepy, what do you call it, jerkish, ugh. Yeah. Like, he creeped me out.

01:36:58 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:36:59 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean.

01:36:59 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 1:

And no girl wants to put nuts in her mouth, right?

01:37:03 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 3:

Like, ugh.

01:37:04 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 1:

That's gross. Like, ugh. By the way, what if Lydia was allergic to nuts? What if she had a peanut allergy?

01:37:09 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

What if she was allergic to nuts?

01:37:10 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You know she like, well, white boys.

01:37:12 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 3:

Most women are allergic to men's nuts. These are those white macadamia. I was trying to get Lydia. We're allergic to y'all anyway. Don't y'all know this? Are you nuts?

01:37:22 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Thank you, TC. Marilyn, you agree with what Lydia did?

01:37:30 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes, exactly. I so agree with what she did. I'm Lebanese, so I understand, like, our culture is, like, very similar. And, like, it's so taboo to say anything like that to a woman. It's literally like when you're talking on, like, let's say on a dating app, and then all of a sudden it's going so good and they ask for pictures. Like, it just gives you the ick and silly. And the fact that he did that in person while she's at the airport, Like, I would have been freaked out. Like, it's already enough as women in our culture to travel alone. And the fact that he did that made her feel so uncomfortable. Like, I feel so bad. I'm still with you, Lydia. You did the right thing.

01:38:03 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's smart. She's a smart girl. She gets it. Hold on a second here. Sam, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:38:11 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 5:

How you doing, man? What's up? I'm a lot older than you guys, but as soon as I heard that, I have to tell you, he doubled down. He totally took a gamble on that, and he used the nuts as an excuse because if it went bad, he could say, oh, I was just kidding. I was at the grocery store, whatever, whatever. But he totally had a plan. He totally was going to see how she was going to work. And you know what? A lot of times, I'm sorry, but there's a lot of girls out there who'd be like, oh, yeah, just try to nut, but I don't just try to get the mojo going, if you don't have anything. That's right. Exactly.

01:38:40 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 1:

That is so true. He definitely took a swing and a miss on that one. That was a bad one here. Hold on. You got to know your audience. With Lydia, he should have said Doma.

01:38:48 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 4:

i would have been like hell yeah erin what's up yeah i just needed to i needed to validate kevin real quick because you both are saying flute out is not a term and it is oh come on thank you oh come on wait wait listen listen listen wait the word flute it's not in the dictionary but it is an actual pop culture like thank you there was a girl there was a girl that said it in a video and so y'all kind of poked fun at her for a couple years about it and it She was, like, making a joke about some guy treating her a certain way. And she was like, yeah, I'm about to get flued out. And it just became a funny thing. Hold on a second. Hold on.

01:39:26 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 2:

The only problem is he didn't say it like it was a joke. He said it very seriously. He mentioned it. He didn't even get flued out.

01:39:35 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 1:

See? If you know, you know. Thank you. Hold on. City girls have a song called Flued Out. You better make sure this is edited. Yeah, I don't trust that. No, no, no. I won't. I won't play that one. No, that's crazy. This is nuts. All right. Well, this is nuts, get it? Lydia, you get it? These nuts.

01:39:55 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 4:

Got it.

01:39:58 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning. second date update right now if you don't get a call back after you've been on a date you want to know what's going on text date to 95500 it's the second date update a mojo in the morning all right so what's the story here we're gonna find out for adrian adrian what was the date

01:40:17 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 3:

first off how did you guys meet uh we met at her work uh she's a bartender and i'm a customer

01:40:23 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 1:

walked in oh you know what i've always thought that that was something that never happened i I always thought that bartenders never went on dates with customers. You must be a good-looking guy if that's the case.

01:40:36 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 3:

Oozing with charm, you know?

01:40:39 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 1:

Boy, and you sound good, too, man. This guy's got some pipes are going. So tell me, what happened? What'd you do? You didn't take her out to her bar, right? What'd you do?

01:40:49 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no. We just simple coffee, just meant for coffee, nothing crazy. I thought the energy was really good between us.

01:40:56 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 1:

And it was just that one date, and it fizzled out. It didn't go very well, huh?

01:41:01 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, I didn't push anything. I wasn't trying to like, hey, let's go back to my place. Let's go back to you. I didn't push anything, take it slow. Didn't want to, you know, lose my watering hole to go down and get a beer. But, yeah, just haven't gotten a call back or a text back.

01:41:14 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing that makes it awkward now. You can never go back there because she's blowing you off. It would be very awkward. But you asked us to call her up to find out what's going on and see if there was something maybe that you did wrong or maybe not. Maybe she's just been busy. We're going to find out. Natalie is on with us right now. Natalie, will you say hello to Adrian?

01:41:36 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hello.

01:41:40 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 1:

Natalie, so Adrian was just asking us about you, and you're not calling him back. Is everything okay?

01:41:50 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's a little weird to do on the radio. I mean, I just, I went home after our date. I thought everything went great, but I just have a habit of just looking into the guys that I'm dating just to make sure everything checks out. And you lied about your age. I'm just really, there was a lot of things that just didn't add up.

01:42:13 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, how did you find out he lied about his age?

01:42:16 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I looked online. It was pretty easy to find his name. How much did he lie? He works at a, I believe, about many things, considering it's a first date. Almost everything I know about the guy is false.

01:42:29 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I was talking specifically about the age.

01:42:32 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what's, wait, real quick, let's go through. So he's lied multiple times, but age first, though. How old?

01:42:40 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 2:

He said he was 32.

01:42:42 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 1:

And how old is he?

01:42:43 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 2:

He's 37. Are you 37? That's not a big deal.

01:42:49 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

Adrian, are you 37?

01:42:50 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm confused. I don't remember having this conversation at all. I don't remember lying about my age. I am 37. I don't remember telling you, like, I'm 32 or whatever you said.

01:43:04 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, you also told me you were a police officer, but you're a security guard. No, no, no. My cousin.

01:43:10 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 3:

I said my cousin. No, my family has been in law enforcement. My cousin is a police officer. My grandfather was one. I am just a security guard, though.

01:43:18 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 1:

So we

01:43:20 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, I found your mugshot

01:43:22 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on a second Hold on Before we disparage this guy And get ourselves into trouble Adrian, do you still want to do this on the radio?

01:43:34 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 3:

I mean I got nothing I would like to clear my name here I mean, yes, I definitely had a mistake Hence why I'm not a police officer You can't do that with a record I was young, I was dumb Alcohol was involved, it wasn't a DUI so I don't have anything wrong. Like, I can still drive an automobile. I know, you know, nothing there.

01:43:52 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but wait a second. The police officer thing, Natalie, you say that he said he was a cop, or did you misunderstand him like he said that you misunderstood him about the age?

01:44:04 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I don't know if you caught what he just said two seconds ago. He goes, as a police officer, I can't have a record or something like that. And it's like... Well, no, he's saying that's why he couldn't,

01:44:12 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 3:

that's why he couldn't be a police officer.

01:44:14 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Okay, well, that was a misunderstanding, But, no, I mean, he was pretty clear with telling me his age because I'm also 32. So, I mean, he was like, oh, yeah, me too. I'm also 32. When's your birthday? The whole conversation stemmed off of that. Did you say that, Adrian?

01:44:32 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 3:

There is. I'm, like, trying to rewind my head to the conversation. I honestly don't remember saying, hey, we're the same age. What's your, you know, I mean, that doesn't seem.

01:44:42 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 1:

Be honest, though. Did she say, yeah, I'm 32? And you're like, yeah, me too. you know give or take five years like delete and the cop thing because you okay you lie or one thing is misheard two things maybe not misunderstood i don't even like the lying about It's so unnecessary.

01:45:02 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I think if you're lying about your age, there's other stuff that you're lying about.

01:45:05 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 1:

If you're lying about what you do, whether you did or didn't, I'm just saying for sake of the conversation here, like if somebody's lying about what they do, the mugshot thing, that's slightly unfair because I, and by the way, I, you know, deep diving somebody that you just went out with, every girl does it. So, but the fact that that wasn't brought up on the date, that to me is not strange. i don't think that that should have been brought up on a coffee date right right right but it's

01:45:33 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 5:

just a compilation of all the things that were lied about that made me like okay i just can't trust this guy's word right off the bat so it's really that for me it's not about one individual thing like if you tell me what you did and you're authentic about it i don't have any problem as long as you can kill anybody or danger but i would like to you know i would like to ask the listeners

01:45:53 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 2:

this because and obviously i'm sure you'll have an opinion on this situation but i'd like to ask the listeners what's the biggest thing that a date lied to you about and how did you find out about it 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number uh first though samantha wants to make a comment about this date here what's up uh samantha good morning morning when i when i

01:46:20 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 3:

first was talking to my husband and we were dating and whatnot i swear on my life he told me he worked for hostess so like two months in i was like when am i gonna get some benefits for you working for hostess and he's like what are you talking about i work for chrysler oh we were at dinner i had the whole scenario in my head laid out it was a complete dream that was a joke he never told

01:46:46 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 7:

me he worked for hostess he was trying to give you that cream filling

01:46:50 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 2:

so maybe it was a misunderstanding a miss uh you know a speaking situation uh who knows texters though are not saying that texters are going this guy's a flat-out liar and he's in law enforcement another texter said how does he have a record and he's working security don't They also check that. There's a lot of people texting at 95500. Hold on. Will wants to comment here. Will, we were talking about dates lying to you. Did you have a date lie to you?

01:47:30 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 7:

Well, she technically didn't lie. She just got up off the table. And I noticed that her butt changed. Come and find out she had butt pads on. Wait, that's so good.

01:47:44 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 2:

Are butt pads like the Wonder Bras that you used to, you know, see a lot of women wear?

01:47:50 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 7:

They came from Amazon because I asked her about it when she came back to the table. She bought it from Amazon.

01:47:56 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

She's wearing someone beard. I need butt pads. I got no ass.

01:48:00 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 7:

No way, man. You better not come here to the BBO.

01:48:03 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Will, I'm telling you. I do. I need it.

01:48:05 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 7:

I can't deal with a flat butt. I'm sorry.

01:48:07 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 2:

I know. Oh, that's so funny. My guy, this texter in here says, I think I dated you, Adrian. Are you Adrian from Shelby Township? Adrian, are you from Shelby Township? Oh, God. Listen, the way this conversation is going, I feel like I need my lawyer president. Hold on. I don't want to self-incriminate. I don't want to have to, like, murder myself. Alisa.

01:48:33 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 6:

No, because right now we got to know what she's got to say. So let's be real. I mean, I met you close to the areas where you're from, Adrian.

01:48:40 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on a second. Oh, my God. Okay.

01:48:42 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 6:

We're about to find the pot of gold here. What do you mean? Call that girl.

01:48:48 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Call that girl. Let's go to Elisa next. Hey, Elisa, what's up?

01:48:52 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Elisa from Detroit. I'm just calling in because, yep, I dated someone. And, you know, I had her meet my family. She told me that she received her master's from an Ivy League school. And I'm big on, like, research. So I went online on LinkedIn and found her page. And, you know, the information didn't add up. It turns out that she ended up getting her certificate from it. And when I asked her about it, she blocked me on LinkedIn and kind of like went off on me. And I was just like, you know, you're the one that was, you know, that wasn't honest about, you know, your credentials.

01:49:23 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 2:

So was she lying? Was she lying about that?

01:49:27 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So she didn't receive her master's from an Ivy League school. It was kind of like a maybe like a week program that she went to and got a certificate. But she told my family that, you know, hey, I got my master's from this Ivy League school. and she lied about some other things, but that was kind of like the icing on the cake.

01:49:43 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 2:

That would be an interesting one, lying about degrees or where you got your degree. What's up, Vanessa? How you doing?

01:49:50 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 6:

Good. How are you?

01:49:51 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 2:

Good. You had a guy that lied to you. What did he lie about?

01:49:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 6:

He lied about his whole last name so that I couldn't find his record.

01:49:59 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's interesting.

01:50:01 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 1:

How far did they think they were going to be able to take this? Pretty far. I searched him and tried to search for his record and everything, make sure he was good, and I didn't find anything, so I thought he was good, and then I found out that it was not. But what I'm saying is how far into a relationship can you get lying about your last name? We got three months in before I figured it out.

01:50:24 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's a long time.

01:50:26 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Also, I feel bad for you that right away you were like, I need to make sure he doesn't have a record. I feel like you've had a pattern of bad relationships.

01:50:34 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 3:

Toya, what's up?

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

01:50:38 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:50:39 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 5:

How are you guys?

01:50:40 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 3:

We're great. What's going on, Toya? We're talking to Adrian and Natalie, and I think Adrian's wishing he never called us. Second date update. What's going on?

01:50:50 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 4:

So I had a guy who lied about two things. He said he lived alone, and when I went to his house, he clearly lived with his mother. All the details were from the 70s. And then, of course, in this day and age, we're sexting, so he sent me a photo of his genitals, and it looks decent. Well, when we got in person, it was toddler size.

01:51:17 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 3:

Wait, images appear larger. He sent you another person's penis, or what did he do, Google a penis?

01:51:25 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 4:

He did. Yeah, he admitted to sending a photo because he knew his was small.

01:51:31 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 3:

You have a little penis. Oh, my God. Did you let him get some?

01:51:36 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not, Kev. No, I left.

01:51:41 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's craziness.

01:51:44 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call, Toya.

01:51:48 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 3:

We appreciate it.

01:51:49 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 4:

You're welcome.

01:51:51 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 3:

We cannot get, Natalie, we cannot get the texter on the phone here that wants to know if Adrian's from Shelby Township, but can you do a little background check and find out where he's from for us?

01:52:02 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 5:

I'll do my best, but honestly, at this point, I'm a little checked out, so I don't really care anymore to discover. I can do some research for you guys if you need, but I'm over it.

01:52:12 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

All right, second date update, Adrian. We're sorry, buddy.

01:52:16 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 2:

Hey, listen, thanks for hitting me on. I don't, Natalie, I mean, just give me a call or text or something. I'd like to talk about this off air.

01:52:26 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 5:

All right. No worries. I'll do that. On the radio, you got blown up more than you expected. I'm sorry.

01:52:33 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're going to see it. We're going to go to Natalie's bar with Adrian and see. Could you imagine having to go back to the bar and going, yeah, it's me again.

01:52:43 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:53:29 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon's going to get us caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. What's up, Shannon?

01:53:33 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 1:

I kind of hate doing Kanye stories around you because I know you're such a fan. But did you watch the interview he did with DJ Academics? I don't know if the full interview was released, but Academics did do like a director's cut. I was going to say, there's like four or five different cuts. I saw some of that. So, Kanye, it looked to me like DJ Academics showed up to wherever Kanye is staying right now. And Kanye answers the door wearing a Sean John t-shirt and a swastika necklace, and then later changes into this all-black KKK outfit. It was really, really strange. Yeah, like, leaves, comes back, and is in this head-to-toe KKK outfit.

01:54:33 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 2:

Have you worn this out in public? Nah, you know the funny thing is I really wanted to wear it yesterday. The mask thing's crazy too. I thought they would like put me in a hospital.

01:54:49 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 3:

Is he wearing a mask? That's what he's got on? The hood. Yeah, the whole thing.

01:54:53 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Like literally head to toe, covered. And they talked about all sorts of different stuff, but one of the clips I pulled, he...

01:55:00 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 3:

talked about his relationship with kim kardashian and how he really did not intend to have kids with

01:55:07 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 6:

her is that clip four that's clip four right oh yes sorry yep even when you speak about kim people might be like well you picked her like you you you put yourself in that absolutely i did that was my fault maybe they're saying that you don't take accountability no that was my fault i took

01:55:23 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 5:

i didn't want to have i didn't want to have children with this person after the first two months of being with her. But that wasn't God's plan.

01:55:32 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, four children later, he also went off on Jay-Z.

01:55:37 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 5:

But you offended Jay-Z. F*** him. F*** him. You know what I'm saying? Put it like this. Let's take it to money. How much money do you think Jay-Z make off my catalog versus what I make off it? Next subject.

01:55:51 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 8:

Mmm. Man, oh man. This guy.

01:55:54 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 3:

I love whenever we do the hmm. Hmm.

01:55:57 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 8:

I just look at these people that, you know, at first I thought he was just doing it for shock value. Now I just think maybe he is like 100% like anti-Semitic, racist, crazy or something. I don't know. Not okay. Man, oh man.

01:56:16 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 3:

All right, so let's talk about some March Madness men's basketball. Every team that entered the NCAA men's tournament with a top seed going to be playing in the Final Four in San Antonio on the 5th. All four, number one seeds in the bracket. Making it to the final four is a rarity. I think it's only happened, this is the second time. Unfortunately, the Spartans are out. They did not survive to number one, Auburn.

01:56:40 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, for the 30th year, I'm not sure I've ever been prouder in a team. And, you know, there's so much coach speak and things that go on and programs all over. But these guys gave me everything they had and drained them of everything. and they should take a week off. There's nothing left in them, and that's kind of the way it was in the locker room. It was a tear-jerking locker room.

01:57:03 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 8:

Did you hear the players in the locker room? It was sad. Can I play you some of this? This is Holloman and Jaden.

01:57:16 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 4:

Everybody's just, like, rooting for one another.

01:57:24 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 2:

We just want to see everybody win. I just told them that I feel like this group got the culture of Michigan State back, you know, got to step in the right direction. But the returners got to come back next year, put in the work all offseason and just make it happen, get over the hump, get back to the same spot. So I feel like I just told them to stay together and stick with each other.

01:57:47 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 8:

Why is it when I put the audio in the system? It's weird. It plays out of one channel.

01:57:50 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It sounded good in my earphone.

01:57:52 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 8:

Oh, it did? You heard it in both of them?

01:57:54 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 3:

It was only in one in mine.

01:57:55 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 8:

Y'all got those fancy earbuds. Yeah, it was crazy. It's sad. You know what? This team, honestly, was a team that was overachieving. I think Michigan was similar, too. They didn't have the athletes that these other teams do. You know what I mean? You look at Duke, and you look at Auburn. I mean, Auburn's got that guy that's the star of Auburn. He's like 26 years old.

01:58:22 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 7:

Bro, their whole team is at least 22. Wait, how is that allowed? Some people got COVID years, so you get like an extra year of eligibility. That should not be allowed. Some people are fifth-year seniors.

01:58:31 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 8:

I feel you. The NCAA is trying to compete, I think, with pro basketball. And I think with them trying to compete with pro basketball, they're paying them now, and they're letting these guys be like, you know, there's a 30-year-old guy out there on the court.

01:58:45 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

It's like, what is that? So it's Auburn, Houston, Florida, Duke.

01:58:48 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 8:

Yep, all number ones. And I think that it's going to end up being, it's going to be Duke versus Florida.

01:58:53 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 3:

Duke, baby. Cooper flag like that.

01:58:55 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 8:

And I think Florida's going to win.

01:58:57 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 7:

Nah. I do. It's Cooper's time, bro. All right. It's crazy.

01:59:01 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 3:

Elon Musk sold X to his own XAI artificial intelligence company in a $33 billion all stock deal. He said in a post that the move's going to unlock immense potential by blending XAI's advanced AI capability and expertise with X's massive reach. And then I saw over the weekend he was making news because he was handing out million-dollar checks to Wisconsin voters in a very high-profile judicial race. He was commenting about that yesterday. Do we have that clip?

01:59:32 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 8:

Oh, would you like that one, too? I'm sorry. I must have been...

01:59:35 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 3:

No, it's okay. I messed up the Kanye stuff.

01:59:37 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

We need to get attention. You messed up this. And somewhat inevitably, when I do these things, it causes the legacy media to like kind of lose their minds and and and then and then they'll run it on every news channel and i'm like i couldn't pay them to the it would cost like 10 times more or you know it's to get the kind of coverage that we get

02:00:00 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 2:

And Chapel Roan, or as Mojo says, Chapelle Roan, raising some eyebrows, making an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast over the weekend. She said, she made a comment, and she said, everybody who has kids is a miserable human being.

02:00:13 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. Where'd she go? Hold on a second. She may be right.

02:00:17 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 1:

All of my friends who have kids are in hell. I don't know anyone. I actually don't know anyone who's, like, happy and has children at this age. I have, like, a one-year-old, like, three-year-old, four and under, five and under. I literally have not met anyone who's happy, anyone who has, like, light in their eyes, anyone who has slept.

02:00:37 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 2:

Nobody who has light in their eyes.

02:00:40 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Give me new friends. Oof. I'll be honest with you. I think she's right. I'm looking at Shannon right now.

02:00:46 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

I have a lot of light in my eyes.

02:00:48 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 4:

And I'm looking at her, and I'm saying to her, man, I got to be honest with you. You know what?

02:00:52 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 2:

Change it to anybody who has three dogs. You're psychoing out of your mind, and you are in hell.

02:00:56 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 4:

Being with those kids all weekend really has completely worn you out, hasn't it? You're glowing, Sonia.

We appreciate it. Where are you going? Are you heading into work right now?

02:02:11 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 1:

No, just dropped my daughter off at school.

02:02:13 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. Go home, grab a big old bottle of Tito's and make yourself a drink, okay? okay that's what i would do right now that's what i was doing by the way being away and being you know uh on vacation holy christ i was uh oh i feel like i need to detox i met a uh a listener uh i was just telling shannon about this named rachel from warren michigan she was a bartender this is here. You want to hear a great story? This is a great story. So I'm at the, uh, the bar, it's me and, uh, my son, Joe and, uh, Tony was there, Tony Travato and his family and stuff. And we're waiting for a table. And I, so I pull this with Joe and he doesn't get it. So we were down in Tampa and my son, Joe does a morning radio show there, the Joe show on FLZ in Tampa. And so we'll go into places sometimes and it's very busy. And I will say to him, I go, Hey, put your name in they may know you from listening to the radio and i said every now and again if there's a wait which there was tons of weights at places because it was spring break everybody was there i said you know what get up on the list a little bit right so we're there and i said to joe go go ahead and do it he does not like doing it he's not like me i don't like waiting i'll be like hey i'm jay towers sit me right now so we're standing at the bar and we're getting drinks and I noticed from a distance this bartender kind of looking over at us and I'm like Joe that's a listener of yours and he's like no dad no no no it's all embarrassing stuff this kid by the way he should have been a freaking he's so sweet and he should be in telemarketing or something like that where nobody can see him it's like what is he doing go introduce yourself go make you know make a listener make a make a friend he doesn't do anything and then all of a sudden she comes walking over here she is she's a listener she comes walking right up and she goes oh my god Are you Mojo? Oh. No. No way in Tampa. Let's go. For the win. Yes, sir. That is great. She had just moved from Warren. Her name is Rachel, and she's down there now, and her family's all probably sad because she's now tan. So it was nice to meet her. She was actually cool. And to her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend or however boyfriend that lives up here, I don't know. Should have been on your best behavior. I don't know. I was asking her. She's like, yeah, I moved without a boyfriend or whatever. I'm like, oh, good for you. Coming down to Florida, going to meet a Florida man. Let me ask you this real quick. This is totally off topic. I don't know where you're going. I have no topic going. What would you have done if Chelsea didn't want to leave Arizona and come here?

02:05:00 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 1:

would i've done i'd be in tucson right now so you win the k at 93.7 krq and probably getting a side

02:05:07 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 2:

job uh working at jim click ford okay i don't know why no that's just interesting when you like she moved i wonder if they had the conversation of hey i'm moving to tampa are you gonna come with me and maybe that was why oh you're talking oh i was wondering how you jumped yeah my fault the

02:05:23 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

girl amanda no no that's interesting that's an interesting point i think that she won i think that I don't know their full story. I probably shouldn't be giving out any more information, but I'm assuming that they might have had like a little bit of a distance that happened. And she was like, I'm getting, no. I think she might've moved for a bourbon. Yeah. So these people that get up and do that, I sit there and I think to myself, God, I wish I was them. Like, not that I want to leave my family or anything like that. I wish I had guts to be able to just go, I'm packing and leaving. And these people that go up and do that, and I ran into a ton of, so you were in Florida also, right?

02:05:57 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 3:

i met in fact i want to shout uh luana from rochester i met her her daughter and some of her daughter's friends and then also the two ladies that screamed out of their minivan at me when i was riding my bike and you scared the crap out of me to the point where i fell off my bike um you guys were great and i knew you she was like we love mojo in the morning and it's so random you're in florida like you just don't think so that was yes but yeah did you meet any former

02:06:22 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 1:

former detroiters that are now living down there or working down there or are these all vacationers that are vacationing for spring break?

02:06:27 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 3:

All vacationers.

02:06:29 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 1:

I could not believe how many people relocated. It was wild to bump into some people. And we were staying, so I stayed in the Clearwater area, Tampa, Clearwater, St. Pete area, and ran into a guy at a car wash. So it was kind of funny. Joe and I were going through the car wash. Went through the car wash. The guy had an old English D, and I go, I see, I'm that guy. Anytime I see somebody and they're wearing a lion shirt, I'm like, go Lions. Like, I'm like the guy, and I used to sit there and have these conversations, and I go, I should probably just be quiet. But people love, if you're from Detroit, you love talking.

02:07:07 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 2:

That's a fact.

02:07:08 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Detroit. I met a lot of people from Grand Rapids, too. Met a lot of people that, you know, lived in West Michigan and grew up in Muskegon, a bunch of people from Muskegon, and they said that, you know, they took, like, buyouts and stuff from where they were working. What's up, Kelly?

02:07:27 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I heard you guys talking about upping and moving, so I had to call. It's a hard time, long time. Hey, Kelly, let's go.

02:07:36 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 1:

Did you do that?

02:07:37 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 4:

So, I did. I sure did. I'm from Chicago, so I moved from Chicago to California. I married a military man, and then we got divorced five months later. Oh, my gosh.

02:07:49 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 3:

Did you stay in California for a little bit? I did. Funny story.

02:07:53 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 4:

I met someone else, and we've been together 13 years, and we have three kids, and we moved to Michigan.

02:07:58 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 3:

So you were supposed to make that move, just not for the first guy.

02:08:02 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 1:

So you met somebody else in California, and then you moved to Michigan? I did. Grand Rapids. Okay, so what, wait, what got you to move to Michigan? Is the guy from Michigan?

02:08:14 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 4:

He is. Grand Rapids, yeah. His family's from here, too.

02:08:17 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you're cheating on Chicago, huh?

02:08:19 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's cheaper here than there. It is. It's nicer, too.

02:08:24 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:08:24 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 4:

And we're killed with Cook County, Texas. We could not afford it with two kids.

02:08:29 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny? I don't know if you know this, but I actually, all my family's back in the Chicago area and stuff.

02:08:35 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

02:08:36 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 1:

And when you were... The plans represent. And when I was raised in Chicago, you grew to be raised to hate Detroit.

02:08:44 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 4:

The Red Wings.

02:08:45 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Correct. Red Wings, Tigers, you know what I mean? Yeah, all these guys.

02:08:49 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so just the Hawks are my, I'm hockey, okay? So you actually still like? You can have any other team except that team.

02:08:58 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 1:

So you love that Patrick Kane is now a Red Wing, don't you?

02:09:01 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 4:

And the cat, you're welcome.

02:09:03 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 2:

Look, look, y'all can have y'all Chicago Love Fest somewhere else. Let me ask you this question. I mean. Because y'all moved, you and your ex-husband got divorced in five months after moving. Were you guys okay and then something crazy happened at the five months? or, like, were things kind of rocky before you even moved?

02:09:19 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That's a whole other pin of worms, Kev. Like, that's, I could write a book. Like, that's a whole thing. It was not good. Someone else got in the way, like, it was a whole thing.

02:09:28 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Well, and he was in the military. You probably were going to have to move around a bunch if you guys stayed together.

02:09:35 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, actually, he was medically going to be discharged anyways. So, yeah.

02:09:41 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of, first off, let me just say this to you. I love, love Florida. I think Florida is beautiful. It's wonderful. I don't know if I could live there. There's a little weird people down there. They're like, they are kind of weird. Like, Florida kind of reminds me of going to the...

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Of California.

02:09:59 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Well... No, California people are a little snooty. Florida people, like, they need some dental work sometimes. Oh, my God. Like, there's a little bit of, you know, and they date their brothers and sisters and stuff. They're kind of a little bit. But they're fun. They're nice people. Okay, that's why I let you say that, because, yeah, trigger. Yeah, it's fun. I like it. And people cannot drive in Florida. I don't know if you drove when you were down there. People. I'm from Chicago.

02:10:30 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 2:

We know how to drive.

02:10:30 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 1:

Well, people in Florida, they'll cut right in front of you. They cut you off. I mean, they're nuts. I mean, they are insane. Chicago or Midwest drivers are aggressive drivers, but we're not aggressive and stupid, you know?

02:10:45 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 2:

That's correct, yeah. I tell my kids to watch out for everyone else except for you.

02:10:50 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Listen, I have to tell you the funniest thing ever was Joe's got me convinced that there's alligators all over the place. So we're at Joe's apartment. And Joe, he lives right next to the bay. Like, his apartment's really literally up right on the bay. And so Joe jokingly is like, he's like, Dad, when we walk to the car, you got to be really, really careful because occasionally the alligators would crawl underneath your car for a warm spot. And sometimes my friends have gotten bit by alligators. Okay? So he's telling us this story. And he's like, you know, and I'm freaking out. I'm like literally, you know, looking underneath the thing. his apartment manager guy goes hey did you hear about the guy that just got bit by the alligator and i swear to god joe was like i gotta move i gotta move now joe joe thought joe thought he was being a a joker kind of messing around with me you know being a but it really happened yeah and and he ends up and by the way you know what anybody from chicago knows this he was being a Jag-Off, right? We know that word. Yeah, we do. All right. Well, thank you for the... There's no Jag-Offs in Grand Rapids, Kelly. No. No, never. All right. We love you. A couple, actually. All right. mojo in the morning uh so shannon i was looking at by the way your pictures were wonderful from your uh trip going away i was looking at your pictures and it was actually it was interesting because for some reason i had it in my head that it was the trip that you always do with you and uh smith and lucy and then i saw that wes and in uh samantha his daughter were there and that looked like it was fun so everybody was together for the the trip well it was really it was a very

02:12:48 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 2:

interesting trip we were together but we weren't together um because so I had booked this trip a couple of months ago me loose and Smith and the only reason that I booked it just the three of us was Wes was planning on taking uh my stepson Kieran on his spring break because he's a senior and then plans changed and Kieran wasn't gonna go on like the big senior spring break which i'm very very happy he didn't because i would have been so worried about that um and so then kieran and his mom decided to go somewhere on a mother-son trip which they never get to do which was awesome but then that left samantha who's a sophomore and she was like well i want to go somewhere for spring break can i go with shan well this is such a convoluted long story I had a, I got a hotel room with only one bed because my children are crazy and fight over who sleeps with me on vacation. So now I've learned to just get a king bed and I sleep in the middle and we all sleep in one bed. And so I'm like, well, there's no, there wouldn't be a bed for you. And she's like, and I want to bring a friend. I said, okay, that's not going to work. So this is not going to work at all. So then Wes said, okay, I'll bring Sam and her friend and we'll just, you know, we'll do the spring break together. Well, by this point, this was just a couple of weeks ago, they decided this. the hotel was sold out. So they ended up getting an Airbnb. We were in the same place in Florida, the same town, but they were about a 10 minute walk down the beach in an Airbnb and we were in a hotel. So it was very difficult at times to try to think to try to figure out meeting up with everybody. Wes was still working. He didn't take the week off of work. So he was working during the day and as you can imagine two high school girls want to do different things than a seven year old and a 10 year old so it was like it was very very fun but I felt like it was just I like I wanted everybody together all the time and it didn't happen that way was it weird at night

02:14:54 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 1:

to not to go back to your hotel with the kids yes and they have So you guys didn't spend any nights together?

02:15:01 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 2:

No. I mean, we couldn't. We couldn't leave any of the kids alone. And so I kept saying to Wes, because mostly we were in a place called Seaside, Florida. There is one little hotel. And when I say little hotel, I think there's maybe 50 rooms in this hotel. And the rest is all Airbnbs. And so I kept saying, oh, I wish we would have just been able to get a house. But I couldn't get a refund on the hotel. It was just this big to do.

02:15:25 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 1:

Did it cause for any tension at all in your relationship?

02:15:29 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, I think that I, I realized very much during this trip because I am still so used to traveling the majority of time that I travel. It's Luce and Smith and I, and I feel like I have, I'm so protective of them and this little group of three that I created after I got divorced. you know that I I noticed it a lot during this trip that I feel like I still have a really hard time like letting Wes in it like really was apparent to me we had a big conversation about this yesterday Wes and I did because I I really felt it during this trip and the interesting thing was he was like oh I didn't feel I didn't feel that way at all I was working of course the girls want to go off and do their own thing they're teenagers they wanted to you know go to the each by themselves and tan and take sunset photos and all the things that high school girls do and he said I knew that it was going to be difficult that way but I was really feeling it and I felt really bad but it definitely brought up a conversation of this is this is still where

02:16:43 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 1:

we are at in our relationship in our marriage you psych a lot or subconsciously or this way

02:16:48 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah does that even make sense like i i feel like when i when i got divorced it was me loose smith against the world right i created this little group of three and we were small

02:17:00 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 1:

and mighty it was that for a number of years because you waited a long time in between

02:17:04 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 2:

divorce and west yeah and i think i'm realizing after even after being married for almost a year we're coming up on our year anniversary in may that that is still i'm still in that mindset It has taken me a really long time. You guys have only been married a year? Not even. I feel like it's been forever. It has taken me a really long time to shift.

02:17:20 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 1:

So quick question for you. Because you did this a lot with the kids because I think, and I think that it was your way of trying to make things very normal for them, but also probably, it was probably normal for you. You did like these little, we're going to go to different places. Like I know you went to this place in Florida. You also went to Colorado. You did like these little trips. And then I remember when you first started dating Wes, it was also, we're doing this with the kids and I'm doing this with the kids. Right. And I remember you kind of like, we're trying to be careful. Do your kids look at it as like, did they like having Wes and Samantha there or did they look at it like they were invading your, your little three person family vacation?

02:18:01 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 2:

I think a little bit of both.

02:18:03 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Because I wondered if it was you or, or, or if the kids, kids noticed that. Wes is super fun.

02:18:10 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 2:

They love hanging out with Sam, but there's a big gap there in age. Yeah. So it's not like she wants to play and go down the water slide and go in the kids' splash pool like they do. Yeah. But also I think that they are so used to just having 100% access to mom, right? And I still feel kind of guilty when I shift my attention from them to Wes. like this is a this is a thing that is i i really am i have struggled with and i'm still struggling

02:18:41 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 1:

with it yeah where you feel like um you all you you want to feel like you have the loyalty to your children but you also now have a husband that you have to prioritize prioritize and his children right he doesn't want you to 100 just i i it's it's tough it's really hard and i know

02:18:58 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 2:

just being a parent is hard in itself this to me is this puzzle of i want to try to please everybody and i feel like by placing one before the other then i'm making you know i'm making my kids feel bad or i'm making west feel bad or i just can i tell you though that i do think that

02:19:13 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

you and west are both very good about prioritizing your biological kids and stuff and being attentive and great to the others because i have friends of mine got and these are guys so not women are totally different women are you know very good at being able to you know to do both i have guy friends of mine that i feel like they spend too much time with the uh the new wife or new girlfriend's kids and they don't spend enough time with their own kids and i do think that like i wondered how you know like if chelsea and i god forbid ever got divorced yeah i think that it would i could sometimes in my friends see myself being like joe jacob blue coo like you know what i mean like i hate to say it or starting tradition

02:20:00 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 4:

or doing some of the traditions, I think it's good that you're protective of your kids, but I think it's now got to be time that you guys got to all probably, I mean, I'm not an expert at this, but maybe listeners are, and they've been through this.

02:20:12 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love, like when I post pictures or when I talk about stuff like this, I love when people reach out who are in a similar situation and what has worked for them or what has not worked for them. By the way, I really, really appreciate that so much. It is so helpful.

02:20:26 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 4:

So I looked at your pictures, and it's funny because then I saw, Wes in some pictures and I knew Wes was going down there and I saw some of the pictures that you posted and it was like a lot of you and this is on your your uh cupcake uh Shannon uh Instagram and stuff and I saw a ton of uh you and the kids and then I would see like a picture of Wes you know like in there and I know I know that it has got to be uh it's got to be tough like you're I don't think you're being disloyal to your children um by having you know west be part of this thing he's not he's you know he's the he's there he lives i am still in the phase of trying to find

02:21:05 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

that balance yeah that's what came to my mind like people always talk about like work life balance and like trying to compartmentalize and decide where your effort is and or this guy named bill was like there's no such thing as work flight balance it's just life yeah and you know it's tough you're in a new shift and there's a quote-unquote normal that existed and now there's a quote-unquote new normal and you're still trying to figure it out i should give yourself grace too you know you know i mean like you're moving through this and there's no blueprint the kids are moving through this and there's no blueprint but i think you're you're doing the best you can with what you got and you're leading with love and that's never a bad thing hi hannah hi what's happening oh not

02:21:46 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 2:

much just calling to kind of share with Shannon that even after five years I'm on my now husband we've been together for five years my I have three children and my their dad and I divorced when my youngest was like a few months old and I spent many years with just the four of us so that that dynamic of having you and your kids against the world and you build such that bond that And even with my husband now, I feel guilty about it. But when he's gone, I'm like, oh, this feels like normal.

02:22:20 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:22:21 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 2:

It feels really good to just have my kids and I dynamic and we aren't accommodating. You know, he's great with the kids and we have a good dynamic all together. But we really get to just be ourselves when it's just us. And I would say now we're starting to kind of let him in that world. Like, we sing a lot in the car, and we have a lot of – and it annoys the heck out of him. But we don't care anymore. We're just doing our thing.

02:22:48 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 4:

Do you think – so do you believe that the kids also feel that way? Like, do they have that breath of, you know, he's not around?

02:22:55 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 2:

Definitely, which is – I feel guilty about that, too. But it's hard when you spend their formative years providing everything for them. And then someone comes in that is really good and healthy for the dynamic and balances things out. But, you know, nothing can replace that feeling of that togetherness and that bond that a single parent created with their kids during those type of years.

02:23:23 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And, you know, I wonder if it's similar to like when you ever go hang out with your old friends and you get together and you're with your old friends in a group and, you know, new friends or somebody come in and you're like, well, they just don't know. They don't know all the history or whatever. I don't know if there's any case to that or or what it is.

02:23:41 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

I think the feeling is similar, definitely, because you you just kind of feel at home when.

02:23:46 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 1:

For me, I think it's an attention thing. Like I want to, I want it to spread myself. I want to give equal parts of myself to everybody, you know, and it's so tough.

02:23:57 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 4:

And I think moms are very, like, I look how Chelsea is with the boys. I mean, when, listen, I've, I'm their dad and I feel like an outsider sometimes when it's, when it's the, you know, five of us, because she is so involved in their lives, um, with those kids in every single way. sometimes she and jacob have conversations and i'm as a dad going i have no idea what the hell they're talking about yeah so i kind of can see but you got to be really i think you got to be careful that and wes is very good about not taking it personal it's it sounds like he is the damn

02:24:30 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 1:

best like he is just yeah i we we sat and talked about this so much yesterday because i kept saying i feel like i'm just failing at this whole thing like i just i feel like i'm not doing a good job and he said the same thing you said, Kev. We have to give ourselves grace as we walk through this. We've never done this before, right? So it's new to both of us.

02:24:53 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Alex. Hey, how's it going? Good, what's going on, Alex? You're in a...

02:25:00 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 1:

the same boat huh you're a divorced dad well yeah i was a single i was young and you know had an oopsie baby but i was a single dad for a while i i met my now wife we got married we have two kids of our own so what we do is we once a month we take one kid out they get a yes day with with us they get to do whatever they want they pick out the lunch they pick on an activity and every month We take it out, and it's just a special day designated just for them, and they get the alone time for the entire day. So we do that once a month with the three different kids, and they just know every month they get their day, and it's whatever they want.

02:25:40 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 4:

So where Shannon has it as these little trips that she goes on with the kids and stuff like that, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to have like what he was saying a day or even on a trip or whatever for sure and west does west

02:25:56 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 6:

trips with just his kids like those are things that are those are so cherished by us those are traditions those will stay i think it's it's more like this trip just made me realize i i i need to do a better job with really honestly prioritizing him yeah right because i was so focused on the

02:26:15 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 4:

kids for six days you know what's funny though this is actually funny i remember when i was a kid or I remember when Chelsea and I first got together I took her to places that I used to go to as a kid and I'd be like this place is great and she'd go there she'd go this place really isn't that great because you have those memories sometimes you go back to places like with an outsider and they don't have the same feeling towards something and I don't know how that is with you guys you know in the place that you guys go to in Florida but um and I think it's because they weren't there on the first time that you had that experience I tried so hard to not be like

02:26:50 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 6:

well we loved going here last time I wanted to create something new but just human nature you

02:26:56 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 4:

kind of do that you know it there is no blueprint like you said earlier there's no blueprint to this whole thing and it's all trial and error and this is where I think in relationships you got to just be able to just say hey I get you if you're feeling left out and I'll try to do better but also they've got to be able to say hey i get you that this is what you need at that moment is

02:27:23 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 6:

that time yeah so you guys can send me the invoice for this i did not mean for this to be a heavy therapy session by any means it was a great trip it's all it's awesome that you listen your kids

02:27:34 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 4:

like you my kids i can barely get luke to call me back unless he needs me to put more money in his bank account so uh all right i'm just kidding luke luke by the way went to nashville on his which was his fraternity thing this weekend.

02:27:48 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 6:

They probably saw my stepson. That's where he was.

02:27:50 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 4:

Ruzzy, he kept sending me text messages in our group chat, our family group chat. They said, I am drunk, but I just want to tell you, I don't tell you enough, I love you guys. So it was kind of curious. I would take that. Okay, even whether you're drunk, we love it.

02:28:04 - 02:28:04 | Unknown:

Wake up!

02:28:04 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

God, I hate this sound. If I didn't pay so much for this damn phone, I'd throw it through the wall. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:28:13 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Kev and Zach got trapped in the parking lot, parking garage, right?

02:28:21 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 5:

They did. We were in Ohio in Toledo for Mud Hens opening day.

02:28:26 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 4:

How was that, by the way?

02:28:27 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 5:

It sucked. No, no, I'm just kidding. It rained, so the weather wasn't ideal, but the experience was still there. Toledo's a great place.

02:28:34 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 4:

They do opening day.

02:28:35 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 5:

They do.

02:28:36 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 4:

Big.

02:28:36 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 5:

We have Frickers. Megan always talks about Frickers. Oh, how was it? It was all right. It was all right.

02:28:43 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 6:

You can only say that when she's not here.

02:28:45 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Because that is her favorite. So maybe that rain caused her to get sick.

02:28:49 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 5:

It was cool. Yeah, it was a great time. I met Scott Sands. Shout out to Scott Sands.

02:28:53 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 4:

That's a great dude.

02:28:53 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 5:

We had a great time, man. But when we were ready to leave, we weren't able to leave as swiftly as we had imagined.

02:29:01 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 3:

And we had to leave, like, real quick because Kev had a game.

02:29:05 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

You had to come back for the Pistons game.

02:29:07 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so as soon as we were done, we had a dip. And we got caught in, I don't even know, what is it, a parking garage? Yeah, like a traffic jam inside of a parking garage.

02:29:17 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 4:

The worst is when you're leaving games or any kind of downtown area after a show.

02:29:22 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 6:

Anything at the Vox Theater.

02:29:23 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 4:

And you're on level five and you've got to go through that old thing.

02:29:28 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 5:

I always have the worst look if there are multiple lanes for you to pull in, whether it's toll booths, whether I'm at McDonald's. I always feel like the lane I pick is the slowest lane. So we're in that situation where there are two different lanes, and we're in one, and it's not moving.

02:29:44 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

But I stick in the middle, so I try not to have anyone come up. I'm the next person, and these cars are struggling. And do you want to talk about the truck guy, or should I? Go ahead. All right, so both of these cars are stuck. There's a big truck on our... our right and a small vehicle on our left and the guy in the truck gets out of his vehicle and he's like let me help you uh because mine's not working let me help you uh get out of here so instead of you know grabbing her credit card and trying to like swipe it he actually lifts the gate and he breaks the gate to try to get the car out but he's not strong enough so the gate kind of just cracks and uh it's still in place and she can't get through and she can't now it's screwed she's screwed and he's like oh sorry so he walks back in his truck and he doesn't talk to her for the

02:30:32 - 02:30:38 | Speaker 2:

rest of the time and this was just some random guy so what did the parking lot people say was

02:30:38 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 3:

there nobody nobody attending like a uh an attend button and they didn't come until fast forward

02:30:43 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 2:

they were there i hate parking lot garages and this happens in not just toledo this happens everywhere it happens in detroit it happens in grand rapids where you you go to get out of the thing and it's not taking your credit card and you got to hit the button and it's and it's like ring ring hello yeah did you try this yeah if i didn't i try this thing and then the person's like i'll hold on a second and they're trying to figure out like they should just have a button

02:31:11 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 4:

to push and open the door there some sort of they do well they do no the reason oh they did have a

02:31:16 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

guy there no no i'm saying parking garages have that button to just lift the gate up but they

02:31:21 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 2:

don't they don't have a guy there because they're too cheap they don't want to pay for somebody to be on an attendant there because i i would like to have the guy there i get this at the airport all the time when i'm pulling out of the airport parking yeah and it's like my damn ticket doesn't work and then i gotta have somebody there it drives me crazy or the ink is like too gone so

02:31:39 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 4:

it won't scan the ticket yes the detroit garages used to be the worst and they finally got rid of it and did that metropolis app now that just scans your license i just want to be the guy like

02:31:49 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

on those old cop shows just to drive

02:31:51 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 4:

through the thing. Okay, so my friend did that. She did? My friend did that. She had her kids in the back and I can't remember if she all of a sudden it was cash only and she didn't have any cash on her and the lady kept telling her you can get out, there's an ATM down the street, turn the block, whatever and she's like, there are 20 people in the parking garage behind me. I can't back up. I've got babies in the backseat so she in her white minivan just drove through the thing and broke it scratched the entire side of her car but she didn't care she had to get home what are those things made of i always

02:32:29 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 2:

wonder are they made of like uh like plexiglass glass or something i mean the dude to zach's

02:32:35 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 1:

point he broke it he did so it wasn't heavy because he could not lift it he was pissed though

02:32:40 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 2:

so what did you guys do then and were you able to get out in time did you guys go through the

02:32:46 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 3:

broken one no we picked the wrong lane and i had to call the guy who drove who was driving i was

02:32:51 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

driving no no it was fine i picked you set the screen by the way like and you were saying how like if there's two lanes but you're the one person and you don't have to make the decision fast enough do you park right in the middle just to see i did i was like i'm not letting anyone go

02:33:05 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 1:

i'm doing this i saw something on instagram it was i don't do this because it's probably like illegal but it was a great way of operating inside of a parking garage where you pull a ticket and you don't have to pay like some garages have if you stay here for under two hours you have to pay so they showed the video the guys in the passenger's seat with the camera recording the driver who gets out of his car he's about to exit gets out of the car walks over to the entrance to punch a new ticket and then brings that new ticket over and scans that but don't they have okay oh

02:33:37 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 2:

and then he oh so then he's paying like the bare minimum yes he's getting or he's there within an hour yeah that's actually a great do that that's not like i thought he was pulling the ticket the gate opened on the come in and he drove out because that's what i was thinking they have spikes in those things don't they some of them they'll say don't back up you know say don't back up or you might get your uh your ticket i remember i rented a car i was going to new york

02:33:58 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 1:

one time rented a car and it took it felt like it took them forever to allow me to leave like i'm sitting in the car waiting finally i just drove over and i guess i drove over the spikes and they And he drove right through it. Yeah, but I didn't blow any Tigers.

02:34:11 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 2:

Parking garage. Like, this is the, you know, we're broadcasting opening day for the Tigers. These guys were there for opening day for the Mud Hens. I have to be quite honest with you. I hate going to any big events like that for the parking.

02:34:24 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:34:25 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't mind. I don't even mind braving the, actually, I don't. I do. I don't like being out in cold weather. To me, baseball should be played, like, on a 75 or 80-degree day. So if it's rainy and cold, you're not going to see me. I'll be doing the broadcast and getting in my car on the way home and watching it on FanDuel television or whatever. But the parking is miserable.

02:34:46 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 4:

Can't handle it.

02:34:47 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

And I'm one of those people that I got to have good parking. And a lot of times I'll sit there and I'll go, hey, I forgot my season pass. Have you ever done that? I did this. This is a good one. I said, man, my phone locked up on me. I can't get into this.

02:35:00 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 5:

thing and I turned my phone off. I said, I'm sorry because everything's now on your phones. And they scanned the thing and they couldn't figure it out. They let me in. There's a hacker. There you go. They said, man, you got to have it, but what are they going to do? Make me back up? I got 8,000

02:35:13 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 3:

cars behind me. That's the thing, bro. And I'm not trying to do that. Just let me through. It'll be as one car. Well, should I tell them

02:35:21 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 4:

it was actually user error? You did. Well, so, when we finally get out, a gentleman comes up he's like oh all of you guys have been putting in your card wrong so flip it upside down so like does it show you an example of it no there was no sticker nothing well that's their fault

02:35:41 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 5:

did you guys go to Tony Paco's did you guys get I wanted to

02:35:46 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 4:

but no

02:35:47 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 5:

Megan didn't take you to Tony Paco's

02:35:49 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't think she wanted to go to her did she take you

02:35:51 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 2:

to the Dirty Bird

02:35:51 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 5:

Dirty Bird's great I don't know

02:35:53 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 3:

none of these names Westside

02:35:55 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 2:

you can go to Dirty Bird

02:35:58 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 3:

Shout out Daniel, too. We pulled up on Daniel. He was there. Shout out to Fricker. Fricker's was straight. No, tell him what you said.

02:36:05 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 4:

You were like, this isn't as hot as I thought it was going to be.

02:36:07 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 3:

So they brought some mild, like, boneless wings. And I'm like, all right, I need some more heat. Yeah. What's the next level? She's like, go Nashville. I'm like, all right, bet. Nashville hot was, like, not hot at all. It was worse than mild. I'm like, what is this?

02:36:18 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 5:

Let me ask you this question. Did Megan do what we said she does whenever you're in Toledo and she did it to Zach? Did she do, was she tour guide in it? Was she, like, telling you, Kevin, like, more information than you wanted to know about places in Toledo?

02:36:31 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't say more information, but she definitely toured. She was like, that was my first building.

02:36:40 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 5:

Megan, by the way, you know what we should do? If anybody's listening to us in Toledo, can we make Megan a tour guide and we do a Megan tour where we do the tour of Megan?

02:36:50 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:36:50 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 5:

And we'll have people, you know how people like, and everybody will have the headsets where you can listen to either the recorded voice or Megan talking to you. That's what we got to do. And we all, we'll get every listener, we'll get as many people that want to sign up for it to go from like wherever you're listening areas, we're going to get a tour of Toledo from Megan.

02:37:06 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 2:

And we need to get her a key to the city.

02:37:08 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God.

02:37:09 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Look, she loves Toledo.

02:37:10 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 3:

She's just proud of her community and her city. For sure.

02:37:13 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 2:

She loves it.

02:37:14 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 5:

I love it. But see that.

02:37:16 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 2:

If you work in the mayor's office, email me.

02:37:18 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 5:

Mayor Kapkavich. There's something like that, right? We've got to make that happen. Captain Babbage. I'll call Scott Sands and I'll get all the information. He's like the vice mayor of the city. All right, we'll be right back. Vice mayor. Don't go anywhere. We're back with Tate McCray tickets. Tate next.

02:37:35 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 1:

If I had a dollar for every time I got a parking ticket in Royal Oak, I could pay one of these parking tickets. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:37:49 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 5:

you are listening to mojo in the morning hey win tickets see tate ray we got tickets for you right now text tate to 95500 sold out show tate to 95500 standard text and data rates do apply

02:38:08 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right so we'll get you caught up on what's trending

02:38:14 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 5:

and the Dirty on the 30s. Shannon, what do you got?

02:38:17 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 2:

So Morgan Wallen, the musical guest on SNL over the weekend. Actress Mikey Madison was the guest host. And so Morgan did two songs. He did this song right here. And you know how at the end of the show, everybody, the whole cast, some of the crew, they all get on stage, the host, the musical guest, they all say goodbye, and then they go off to their after party. That is just tradition. So Morgan Wallen does this. And if you were watching, you saw the credits started rolling and he just walked off the stage right past the cameraman, almost like brushed shoulders with the cameraman. No after party, got right on his private jet, actually shared a photo on his Instagram story from his private plane with the caption, get me to God's country, written over an image of the runway. And so everybody was going, well, one, you were rude for the way you just exited the show before it was even truly over. And two, where are you going? I kind of get it, though. That you were in such a hurry.

02:39:18 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 5:

To me, I get it. Like, you're Morgan Wallen, and if you're a guy, where's he from? Is he from, like, uh...

02:39:23 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 2:

I think he lives in Tennessee. I could be very wrong on that.

02:39:27 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 5:

So in Nashville and stuff like that? There's a difference between being in New York and being, you know, maybe from Sneedville,

02:39:33 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 2:

Tennessee. But maybe wait 30 seconds until the credits are actually done. I don't know. Everybody who was a part of the crew said that that's how he was all week, though. Oh, really? So he wasn't participating? Just came in, walked out, no goodbyes. Thank you so much to Morgan Wallen. I had a wonderful time. Thank you all.

02:39:56 - 02:39:57 | Unknown:

I'm out of here.

02:40:00 - 02:40:03 | Speaker 2:

You know what that is, by the way? He was already gone by the time that saxophone started playing.

02:40:03 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 3:

Margin Wallen needs to understand that if you're going to be, you know, pulling one of those Irish goodbyes, you got to do it when you got to get to the back. Not right in front of the camera. Stand back by Kenan Thompson or something like that. Hide behind him. He's not playing politics, man.

02:40:21 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 2:

Take it from the king of the Irish goodbye, Mojo.

02:40:23 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 3:

I swear to you, man. And my goal, I don't know if you know this, but if I go somewhere, I already plan on where I'm going to sit, what I'm going to do.

02:40:32 - 02:40:36 | Speaker 2:

You're going to die, and we're all going to go to your funeral, and your casket's already going to be in the ground.

02:40:36 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my body is not even going to be there. My body's going to be long, freaking gone. You're going to be like, are you sure we're at the right funeral home? Like, yeah, that is gone.

02:40:47 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 2:

Cardi B went on a rant on X over the weekend. Don't know if any of you guys saw that, accusing her ex-offset of threatening to kill her. What? Uh-huh. So, she said he's upset after she sent some messages to his new girlfriend. Messages that supposedly showed that he's been begging for Cardi to come back or else he was going to commit suicide after killing her. She also accused him of sending some videos of them having sex to somebody, like a mutual friend. He's already dating? Oh, they've been broken up for a while. Yeah, they have. Has it really been a while? I commented on this story, by the way. It didn't sound like they had a fateful relationship

02:41:27 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 3:

when they were together either, so. I don't know, though. I think you got to wait a little bit longer, you know, in between.

02:41:33 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I feel like it's been a year, maybe.

02:41:37 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I think you got to wait a little bit longer because, remember, he was accused of cheating and he tried to deny that he was cheating.

02:41:43 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, many times.

02:41:44 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 3:

You can't deny you're cheating but still be cheating and still be with the person that you're accused of cheating with.

02:41:49 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a few quick airline stories to close out the dirties today.

02:41:54 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 3:

There were three biggies over the weekend. What's going on? Planes landing on their side again?

02:41:59 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So a United Airlines plane made contact with a kite while attempting to land at Reagan National on Saturday.

02:42:07 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 3:

How big was the kite? That's the airport that that helicopter blew.

02:42:10 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 2:

That was Saturday. Friday, same airport, a Delta plane nearly crashed midair with an Air Force jet.

02:42:19 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 3:

Stop it. They said they weren't going to allow that to happen anymore.

02:42:23 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, it did. So that was Friday, Saturday. And then I saw this story yesterday. And my question to you is, was it a harmless prank? Or was this a next level invasion of somebody's personal space? A TikToker named Danielle took an early morning American Airlines flight from Charlotte to Los Angeles.

02:42:44 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 1:

Last Saturday on March 15th, we boarded American Airlines flight 3051 from Charlotte, North Carolina to Los Angeles, California. All right. We sat in the main cabin and our flight took off at 7 a.m. I'm only listing specifics because I want this person to know that I know who you are. All right. I didn't realize until later that evening that there was a brain in my head. Now, let's talk about how that happened. Now, some people might say, how did you let somebody braid your hair and you didn't know? First of all, when I get on the plane, I don't sleep. I hibernate. OK, it wasn't until I got to my Airbnb.

02:43:26 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 3:

They braided her on the plane while she was sleeping.

02:43:28 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm about to take a shower. I'm putting my hair up. Wow. And that's when I discovered a braid in my head. And I said, hold the f*** up. I ordered this wig from TikTok shop. Did they send me a wig with a braid in it? So that's when it dawned on me, the n***a sitting behind me graded my hair while I was asleep on the plane.

02:43:50 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 2:

That's so creepy. Wow. Her video now has 1.2 million views with the internet both creeped out about this and also cracking jokes. Now American Airlines is called American Hairlines. Ah, I like that. Could you imagine though waking up and realizing that somebody like did something to you while you were sleeping? Heck no.

02:44:07 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

I always felt like the person sitting behind me was touching me during the thing. Like I felt like they were like in between the seats. But can I tell a quick American Airlines story? It's a positive one. Yes. So my sister Tracy is the loving wife of an amazing guy named Scott. Scott has early onset Alzheimer's. He's 55 years old, has early onset Alzheimer's. it's really, really crushing for all of us to see what Alzheimer's has done to this man who's literally only in his 50s. She was flying American Airlines, and it's a struggle for her because when he has to go to the bathroom, she needs help because she has to help him in the bathroom. Yeah. They were so amazing, the American Airlines flight attendants, they held up a sheet by the bathroom so that she could go and keep the...

02:45:00 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 2:

door open and help him while he's in the bathroom yeah and she they were very kind to to help her like with you know trying to get him you know situated and stuff at the end of the flight they handed her a bag with a note that was on there and the note said this is for you later tonight so that you can understand how great of a wife you are and they put a bottle of wine in the thing for her was that not unbelievable the flight attendants realized you know what she was having to deal with and for anybody that has family members who have alzheimer's people with alzheimer's don't look like they have alzheimer's you know what i mean yeah and so sometimes you don't understand like why is that woman feeding that man why is she having to go to the bathroom and the flight attendants were just amazing so so shout out to american airlines or american

02:45:46 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 4:

hairlines yeah american hairlines hey for all of today's story you can catch up by checking out the podcast just search mojo in the morning in the free iheart radio app get more dirt at mojo

02:45:56 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 1:

in the morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:46:10 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Alright, Mojo in the Morning. I want a completely unbiased party here because I feel like I got a little bias on this end here. I'm going to tell you something I did and I want you to tell me if you think that I am not manly for what I did. OK, and I know pretty much when you think of me, you probably don't think manly. It's Mojo in the morning. Mojo, Shannon, Megan out sick today. Kev, we've got something to talk about here with Lydia. OK, because she witnessed this and I think that she looks at me in a totally different light now. I think our relationship is forever changed. Producer Lydia. so we were hanging out and um we were kind of we were all hanging out at the beach so we're on the water and we're hanging out and we're all sitting around and we're kind of hanging having some you know some drinks but also just kind of like just talking and stuff and my neighbor uh was there uh paul clem and um we're just out you know he and his daughter esperanza and uh his uh his wife um corinna and um lydia and then tony travato was there too or actually he wasn't there i think his his kids were just there and so we're hanging out and let me tell you what happens we start hearing all this commotion and this guy starts yelling at these two kids that are like maybe 12 13 14 years old and he yells at them like he's reprimanding them because they're doing something he thinks that they shouldn't be doing his kids uh no they were somebody else's kids their parents had left okay so they had left the water they went went away and um all of a sudden out of the blue Paul gets up out of his chair and I've never seen this out of him he turns into the freaking you know incredible Hulk and he goes runs up to this guy that yelled at those kids and starts going you mother effing baba you don't talk to those kids and I start screaming at these guys and the entire time that we're sitting there and I don't know Lydia are you there?

02:48:24 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 3:

I am

02:48:24 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 2:

the entire time that we're there I just stay in my chair and don't even make a move

02:48:28 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 3:

you had your face turned

02:48:30 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even look back. I didn't even look towards him when it happened. I wasn't going to get involved at all. And Lydia, you're the, Lydia's like, are you not going to say anything? And I'm like, no, I'm not going to say anything.

02:48:45 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 4:

Paul's taking care of it.

02:48:47 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 2:

First off, I'm thinking Paul's being a crazed man. I don't even think he should be yelling like that. I was like, man, keep it down. Some of us are trying to enjoy the weather.

02:48:59 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 3:

Mojo's acting like he didn't even know who he was.

02:49:01 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 2:

I swear to God. Actually, I was hoping he wasn't going to walk back towards us because I was like, this guy's crazy. And Lydia, the entire time, is looking. And you even said something to me. You even said something like, you're not going to do anything?

02:49:14 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I asked if you were going to do anything about it. You said no. And then I said, well, now I see why Chelsea wears the pants here. Chelsea would have said something. Like what? Chelsea would have stood up for what was going on.

02:49:27 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Like what was going on was none of our business. I didn't know what was going on, but it was Paul's business.

02:49:33 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 3:

So had it been Chelsea in that situation, she would have taken the reins on it.

02:49:38 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 2:

So, so I guess this guy had said something to Paul's daughter, uh, Espy about, uh, their, her dogs are like the day before or something like that.

02:49:48 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 4:

So he was already in a spit list.

02:49:50 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 2:

So he already didn't like this guy. And so he did, you know, he, for some reason, got all upset, which, by the way, Espy's dogs are. kind of annoying so they could have been right on that I don't know but the entire time I'm sitting there and I'm going I'm not getting involved because I know nothing I don't you know I'm an innocent bystander and um it brings up a question because Lydia then says this to me she's like if you're in a bar or you know you're hanging out with friends and your friend starts getting into a fight with a guy at the bar you're not going to jump in and help your friend there's no way in hell you would i'm like i would not depend on that what is the old saying my name is bennett and i ain't in it that's me i'm not getting involved kevin if we're out together we're hanging out at a bar now if it was if it was like my wife actually chelsea probably say no this is the case too this is one of our biggest issues in our relationship is chelsea feels like i don't i don't stick up for people and stuff i don't here's my problem i go up there and do something like that and i get involved guess who the first person is that gets blamed for it the big guy the bigger guy always gets blamed for something and last thing i need is somebody videotaping me hanging out in the middle of a fight i'm not getting involved in that paul now if the guy started throwing punches at paul schmuck you know which you have run over and help him and helped him if if the guy started throwing punches i probably would get up and go hey don't punch

02:51:22 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 4:

my friend no he's he's packing up his chair and all this pretzels and walking away oh his

02:51:29 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

bags of pretzels i had my i had my chair i had my yeti i had my no i had my yeti cooler i had my yeti cooler there i was just sitting there enjoying myself i don't know okay so here's a question 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 have you ever been out with a friend who got into a fight or a family member, do you jump in to help them or do you let them just deal with it themselves?

02:51:56 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

See, most of the time, I'm blessed to not have friends that really be into the drama like that. Most of the time, it'd be women that'd be yelling and yapping. Women are crazy.

02:52:05 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, bro, it's always a woman that got something to say. And then what ends up happening? The woman goes nuts and you're the person that's got to bail her ass out. Then you got to, then you looking at her boyfriend like, come on. I looked at Lydia, and I'm like, you're Chaldean. You're crazy.

02:52:21 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm surprised Lydia didn't get up and go over and help Paul.

02:52:24 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 2:

I know.

02:52:24 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm not getting canceled for something I'm not involved in. No, they just yelling at each other. What do you think I want? Well, Mojo, you are a man.

02:52:32 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Not a man when it comes to Paul. I ain't his man.

02:52:36 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 4:

I guess cancellation has no gender.

02:52:37 - 02:52:45 | Speaker 2:

He's not my man. I'm identifying as a non-man. Paul, Paul's crazy, by the way.

02:52:45 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 3:

He sounded like he had it. He sounded like he got up. He was screaming, oh, boy. Somebody, oh, boy, needed more help than Paul, dude.

02:52:51 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 2:

Paul went to Ferris State, enough said. What's going on, Tiffany? Hi.

02:52:56 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I was just listening to you, and I actually do this. I have two younger children, and there was a random kid beating on these little kids, and I went off, and the mom just sat there, and my husband sat there, and he said, she has it handled. I don't need to help her out.

02:53:12 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 2:

i like i like how uh they're not even your kids and you're dealing with this yeah no yeah yeah well it's funny because the dad of these uh two girls came down and he was this guy was like you don't touch my or don't talk to my kids oh he was and the mom was in there paul and then that mom starts high-fiving paul she's high-fiving paul going oh yeah what's great job man like whatever what's up amanda hi hi amanda hey good morning how are you guys good morning do you get involved in in friend fights okay so i'm about to be 37 but when i was in my

02:53:55 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 6:

early 20s yes now no um reason being is because i intervened into a fight that a family member of Mine was in, a cousin. And we both ended up catching assault charges. Yeah, see, I ain't doing that. With that being said, now I'm just like you, Mojo. MYOB, mind your own business. I'm not doing you. It looks like, listen, your boy had it. Your boy had it. Now, another guy would have came. Then I would expect you to jump in and help your friend.

02:54:23 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

02:54:24 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 6:

One-on-one, you're right. You need to just mind your business. Last thing I need. Bring your head like you did. I'd have been over there, head turned to.

02:54:29 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 2:

A nice weather day, and I'm missing it out because I'm having to bail my ass out of jail. What's up, Steve?

02:54:36 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? Look, I had all that in me 15 years ago. Anymore, I got a couple more good ones in me. As a friend, you're supposed to sit by and make sure his buddies don't jump in on your buddy.

02:54:49 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:54:50 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 1:

Right? Because that's when you jump in. Like, all right, if you're going to have friends coming in, then I got to get ready.

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's the deal. If we're in a bar and some guys start.

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

you know double teaming but if it's one-on-one i'm fine you're you're a grown enough man you

02:55:06 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 4:

can take care of one-on-one right you got pretzels to eat why are you picking on my

02:55:10 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

pretzels you gotta be ready to put somebody up because honestly lydia i just want to know like

02:55:15 - 02:55:22 | Speaker 4:

02:55:31 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hi. First time, long time. Hey, John. He's out on the phone.

02:55:36 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, buddy?

02:55:38 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we were in Germany, and we had some other military gang up on our buddy, and we all just jumped in and just started brawling out. Because you got to sit up for your buddies.

02:55:51 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:55:52 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 2:

You can't be hanging out and just letting them hang.

02:55:54 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 3:

But this isn't military. If this was military, by the way, would you guys honorably discharge me from the military for not sticking up?

02:56:06 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 2:

Probably not, but that's the wrong thing to do because if you go into combat, you better hope he has your back.

02:56:12 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay. This is getting serious. See that? I guess I'm not a military guy, you know? I love our military. You don't want me. You do not want me. We'd lose every war that we were involved in. You ever see it Friday? No. Oh, never mind. It's a scene in there where this dude getting beat up. His daddy get out the car, and then Deebo be like, you want some too old man? He'd be like, no. Dee run. Oh, no. Do I pick up Misfit Victor?

02:56:41 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes. You do.

02:56:44 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 3:

Victor, what's up?

02:56:46 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Welcome back, guys. Good morning.

02:56:51 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to speak? What are you doing?

02:56:55 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 1:

Victor. Okay. Sorry. I lost you there for a second. Okay. What's up? No, uh, my, my, uh, wife and family and I were in a restaurant one time and we're watching the, the hostess argue with a group of people about their seating them and different. And going through that every day of my life at work in a restaurant, I was sitting back going, wow, this is very entertaining to watch. This is like, cool. I was enjoying every second of it. And all of a sudden my wife decides that she's going to interject in the conversation so she says hey uh just so you know they told me that we would not be seated either until our whole party was here like my head just turns and looks at her like what what are you doing all of a sudden the lady in the argument turns and looks at my wife says was anybody talking to you bitch oh no and And to be honest, I was thinking the exact same thing a little bit. So I have to defend her honor. And it was a group of like eight women. So I said, hey, calm down. She's just trying to help. All of a sudden, 20 guys come from out of the bar and are threatening to kill me. They're all in fight stands. They're like, we're going to kill you. We're going to beat the bleep out of you and this and that. And I'm sitting there by myself. And I turned to make sure, like, my wife and kids are okay. And they're already at the table. They're sitting down.

02:58:21 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:58:24 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. I'm just sitting there going, yeah. The police were called. People arrested. It was insane.

02:58:29 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 3:

So you got yourself involved to defend your lady's honor. And Tina goes, goodbye. I'm out of here. Pulled a mojo.

02:58:39 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 1:

She was like, we ordered edamame. Did you want this? I'm like, yeah. I need to get saved by underwear.

02:58:45 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo This is Mojo in the Morning

02:58:54 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing

02:58:56 - 02:59:35 | Speaker 3:

Live Mojo in the Morning Phone number 844 Mojo Live I got a real quick Oh, so I went and watched the games So I had, you know, a bunch of time So I'm like, oh, I'm going to go up to a bar and just go watch the games, which, by the way, watching the games at a bar is not as fun as watching a game at home where you can actually sit there and focus and kind of hear what the announcers are saying. I'm one of those people, I can't get involved, especially when you're sitting next to people that aren't necessarily fans of the team that you like.

02:59:35 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, or they're not even there for the game. They're talking about something else.

02:59:38 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Right, like watching a Lions game with a group of Lions fans is fantastic okay but when you're watching say a college basketball and you got a bunch of people that are rooting for one team versus you know or college football we're rooting for the other team you're like oh that's fun too though you like that yeah a little competition well tell me what

03:00:00 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 1:

you guys would do in this case so I'm hanging up and I and Shannon knows this I love sitting at the bar or the counter at any restaurants like I love the bar I never get to do that much like I feel like that's kind of like cool to like sit up there and get to like talk to the bartender or the you know the waiter and stuff and kind of have conversation with them I'm sitting up there at the bar and the guy that's next to me is rooting against Michigan State okay so he is not a Michigan state fan like i am a michigan state fan so i look at the guy give him the once up once down once up once down to kind of look at this guy to see what this guy's all about to pick out things that i could make fun of him about and i look down and he's got his shoes off he's sitting at the bar barefoot and his shoes are right next to his tool and he's completely barefoot hanging at the bar and i'm thinking to myself that's gross that is the grossest thing ever who does this and at one point he got up to go to the bathroom and he had to put his feet on the ground before he put his feet in his shoes to put his shoes on to go to the bathroom and i'm like this dirty slob It's like putting his feet down. And I, so I say something to him, okay, when he comes back from the bathroom. And I said to him, I go, hey, you got your shoes off. Why do you got your shoes off? He's like, oh, I feel more comfortable doing that. And I go, oh, my God, that's gross. I said, I said, I didn't do it like that. That's gross. I said, I didn't like it more, man. That's gross. And I said, I said, that's gross. and he goes, oh, I never wear my shoes. I take my shoes off all the time.

03:01:47 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, at home.

03:01:48 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 1:

And I said to him, I go, do you take your shoes off like in an airplane? He goes, oh, I take my shoes off all the time in an airplane. I'm like, that is a, are there any listeners that are listening to the show that take their shoes off all the time? Like if you go somewhere.

03:02:01 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 2:

At a bar, that is? That's nasty. Ew.

03:02:04 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 1:

Or are there any listeners that are working with somebody who takes their shoes off at work? Like you have your, you're like working with somebody and they're in the cubicle next to you or wherever

03:02:14 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 2:

and they're shoeless? Are you saying only when it pertains to, like, barefoot people or can they have their socks on?

03:02:20 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 1:

Even your socks on is gross.

03:02:22 - 03:02:23 | Speaker 2:

Because I take my shoes off at the movies.

03:02:23 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 1:

Please tell me. You do not. I do not. When I go to imagine. You take your shoes off at the movies.

03:02:28 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 2:

I recline all the way back and I take my shoes off. I'm calling Paul. Nice and neat next to my seat.

03:02:34 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Glanz.

03:02:35 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 2:

What's wrong with me at home? If I'm sitting next to somebody that just has the socks on, I don't like that. Watch the movie.

03:02:40 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 1:

Don't look at my feet.

03:02:41 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 2:

You can't take your shoes off. Especially your feet. What's wrong? I can't not look at your feet. They socked up.

03:02:47 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you have the worst feet ever. I know you know.

03:02:50 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 2:

They're bricks. Your big toe is blacker than mine. You want to see it? Hold on. Hell no, I don't want to see it. No. Show Sandy. Go show me. Why? Show Sandy. Why are you guys doing that to yourselves? Look at that.

03:03:06 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Look at those. Your heels are long.

03:03:08 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 2:

No, they're not. You smell it? Yeah, they are. Go look. I got them cut. What is this smell? Hang on. And now I got to look, because they look long. Can you put it on the camera so everyone on live can see? Are we live? I don't know. We're recording.

03:03:21 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Hold on. Where's his camera?

03:03:24 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 2:

That middle one is long. Can you see that? Oh, my God.

03:03:28 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Look at that.

03:03:29 - 03:03:33 | Speaker 2:

This only fan. I can't see her now. You can just see the bottom of your foot.

03:03:34 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 1:

You can only see it? Okay. Can you see that?

03:03:36 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 2:

His big toenail is so thick. It is a... That's healthy. That is thick.

03:03:43 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 1:

That's healthy. Who takes some milk? Who takes, by the way, I just did. Hold on, hold on. Take yours off and take yours off.

03:03:55 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 2:

I just got a pedicure. Let's put them next to each other. My foot's so damn assy right now.

03:04:00 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Kevin.

03:04:01 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not taking my feet off so you can sew. There you go, you got Shannon. Shannon got her toes nicely polished.

03:04:08 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you got veiny feet. I do. Got veiny. I do have veiny feet. By the way, I just did what they said you're not supposed to do at work. Take your shoes off. See, look at you. Jessica, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hi. Put your shoes back on. I'm going to right now. I'm going to. What's up?

03:04:29 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 2:

I think that no one should take their shoes and socks off unless they're at their own house. Yeah, I agree. Yeah, no, I agree.

03:04:36 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 1:

I agree. I think it's disgusting, don't you? Like, random people. I really do. How would you like to be sitting in a booth next to a family and the guy's got his feet just sitting there out when you're trying to eat? I would leave. I would leave. No shoes, no shirt, no service.

03:04:54 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys ever, like, you know somebody pretty well and then you see their feet for the first time in flip-flops and you get... an entirely different just perspective of them because of what their feet look like. Is that normal or is that just me?

03:05:09 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 1:

That's real. I just feel like some things you aren't supposed to see. I feel like other people feed one of them. In Tevas. You know what I hate for real? And I know a lot of people do this, probably a lot of our listeners. I hate when I'm driving and I look over and the passenger person got their feet up on the dashboard. That's the worst thing in the world to me.

03:05:26 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 3:

Don't you wish the airbag would go off at that moment? Not with Lucy.

03:05:30 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 2:

Lucy does that. By the way, parents, remember, starting Wednesday, kids 13 and under got to be in the backseat.

03:05:38 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 3:

Wow. What do you mean? We got to talk about that tomorrow. All sorts of new laws.

03:05:41 - 03:05:48 | Speaker 2:

All sorts of new laws go into effect on the second. And that is one of them. 13 and under have to be in the backseat if there's a backseat available. Yes. Wow.

03:05:48 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 3:

You're going to get pulled over.

03:05:49 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 2:

So she got demoted to the backseat. Yeah.

03:05:51 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 3:

You're going to get pulled over. They're going to think you're 13. What's going on, Courtney?

03:05:57 - 03:06:06 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Hi. I saw a lady walking in a bowling alley with barefoot. No. That's disgusting. Oh, that's real bad.

03:06:06 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 1:

That's like the worst. Straight to jail.

03:06:09 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you know, people are so sensitive about walking in their bowling shoes areas. And this lady walked from one area to another barefoot. And I was horrified.

03:06:17 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 3:

That's a lady, though. That's a lady that doesn't get COVID, though, because she's got a good immune system. What's up, Mia? Hi.

03:06:25 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 5:

Hi. What's up? First time caller. I'm doing good I'm currently at work so I had to walk into the back but um yeah I'm a cook at um a nursing home and my co-worker who is also a cook will take his shoes off halfway through the

03:06:47 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 3:

shift and in the kitchen yeah we're calling the health department by the way I love old people I love how she's having to whisper this.

03:06:57 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 5:

Where are you?

03:06:58 - 03:07:02 | Speaker 3:

Are you in the walk-in refrigerator or something?

03:07:03 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I walked into the back airlock area.

03:07:06 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 3:

What's that person's name? I'll shout him out right now. Dirty feet, Doug. Dirty feet, Doug. Markeia? Markeia, that's right. What's up? How you doing, Markeia?

03:07:23 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 7:

I'm doing good. How are y'all doing?

03:07:25 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 3:

You know what? My feet feel fantastic.

03:07:30 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 7:

I bet they do because you took those shoes off. That's right.

03:07:33 - 03:07:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so wait.

03:07:34 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 7:

Let me tell you, I agree. Yes, I'm one of those people. Now, I don't take my socks off, but I do take my shoes off at the movies. And when I used to work in the office, we would take our shoes off and we would all walk around on our side. It was so comfy. It's a great work environment.

03:07:50 - 03:07:52 | Speaker 2:

What kind of work did you do or do you do?

03:07:53 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 7:

In mortgages. I'm a chef, but I used to work in mortgages, and we used to just walk around where I saw some, and it was nothing wrong with it.

03:08:01 - 03:08:06 | Speaker 3:

I bet you that your boss doesn't know. You have to hide that from your boss, don't you?

03:08:07 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 7:

No. Okay, so we were all really close, though. So, like, no one thought it was weird. I like Marquise. Even, like, during COVID, we were all working together. Yeah. Like, super close with each other, and there's a whole pandemic going on. We were still in the office.

03:08:21 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. By the way.

03:08:23 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 7:

Thanks, Kevin. I like you, too. You guys are awesome.

03:08:25 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 3:

I like you a little bit more than you. Here, rub your feet up against the phone. Let's hit your feet. Oh, did you hear that?

03:08:36 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 7:

It's my hands.

03:08:37 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh. We love you, Marquia. Take care of yourself.

03:08:42 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 7:

I love y'all, too.

03:08:44 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 3:

All right.

03:08:45 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:08:48 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 3:

All right. So what's the story here? We're going to find out for Adrian. Adrian, what was the date? First off, how did you guys meet?

03:08:56 - 03:09:00 | Speaker 4:

We met at her work. She's a bartender, and I'm a customer. I walked in.

03:09:01 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know what? I've always thought that that was something that never happened. I always thought that bartenders never went on dates with customers. You must be a good-looking guy if that's the case.

03:09:13 - 03:09:14 | Speaker 4:

Oozing with charm, you know?

03:09:16 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 3:

Boy, and you sound good, too, man. This guy's got some pipes here going. So tell me, what happened? And what'd you do? You didn't take her out to her bar, right? What'd you do?

03:09:25 - 03:09:32 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, no. We just simple coffee, just meant for coffee, nothing crazy. The energy was really good between us.

03:09:32 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 3:

And it was just that one date and it fizzled out. It didn't go very well, huh?

03:09:38 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I didn't push anything. I wasn't trying to like, hey, let's go back to my place. Let's go back to you. I didn't push anything, take it slow. Didn't want to, you know, lose my watering hole to go down and get a beer. But, yeah, just haven't gotten a call back or a text back.

03:09:51 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 3:

That's the thing that makes it awkward now. You can never go back there because she's blowing you off. It would be very awkward. But you asked us to call her up to find out what's going on. And.

03:10:00 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 2:

See if there was something maybe that you did wrong or maybe not. Maybe she's just been busy. We're going to find out. Natalie is on with us right now. Natalie, will you say hello to Adrian?

03:10:13 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hello.

03:10:17 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 2:

Natalie, so Adrian was just asking us about you and you're not calling him back. Is everything okay?

03:10:24 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 4:

um i mean it's a little it's a little weird to do on the radio i mean i i just i went home after our date i thought everything went great but um um i just i have a habit of just looking into the guys that i'm dating just to make sure everything um checks out and you lied about your age i'm just really there was a lot of things that just wait how did you find out he lied about his age i mean i looked online it was pretty easy to find his name how much did he lie he worked at i believe about many things considering it's a first date almost everything i know about the guy

03:11:05 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 1:

is false okay i was i was talking specifically about the age yeah what's what's it wait real

03:11:11 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 2:

quick let's go through so he's lied multiple times but age first though how how old he said

03:11:17 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 4:

he was 32. And how old is he? He's 37. Are you 37? That's not a big deal.

03:11:25 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 2:

Adrian, are you 37?

03:11:28 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm confused. I don't remember having this conversation at all. I don't remember lying about my age. I am 37. I don't remember telling you like I'm 32 or whatever you said.

03:11:40 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, you also told me you were a police officer but you're a security guard.

03:11:46 - 03:11:55 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. My cousin, I said my cousin, no, my family has been in law enforcement. My cousin is a police officer. My grandfather was one. I, um, I'm just a security guard, though.

03:11:56 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 2:

So, wait. Okay.

03:11:57 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, I found your mugshot, so.

03:12:00 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on a second. Hold on. Before we disparage this guy and get ourselves into trouble, Adrian, do you still want to do this on the radio?

03:12:10 - 03:12:28 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I got nothing. I would like to clear my name here. I mean, yes, I definitely had a mistake. Hence why I'm not a police officer. You can't do that with a record. I mean, I was young. I was dumb. Alcohol was involved. It wasn't a DUI, so I don't have anything wrong. Like, I can still drive an automobile. I know, you know, nothing there. Okay.

03:12:29 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 2:

But wait a second. The police officer thing, Natalie, you say that he said he was a cop, or did you misunderstand him like he said that you misunderstood him about the age?

03:12:40 - 03:12:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I don't know if you caught what he just said two seconds ago. He goes, as a police officer, I can't have a record or something like that. And it's like, well, no, he's saying that's why he couldn't.

03:12:49 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 1:

That's why he couldn't be a police officer.

03:12:51 - 03:13:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, OK. Well, that was a misunderstanding. But no, I mean, he was pretty. He was pretty clear with telling me his age because I'm also 32. So I mean, he was like, oh, yeah, me too. I'm also 32. When's your birthday? The whole conversation stemmed off of that. Did you say that, Adrian?

03:13:09 - 03:13:19 | Speaker 3:

There is. I kind of rewind my head the conversation. I honestly don't remember his name. Hey, we're the same age. What's your, you know, I mean, that doesn't seem.

03:13:19 - 03:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Be honest, though. Did she say, yeah, I'm 32? And you're like, yeah, me too, you know, give or take, five years. Give or take. Like, delete you. And the cop thing, because, okay, you lie, or one thing is misheard. No. Two things, maybe not misunderstood.

03:13:35 - 03:13:38 | Speaker 1:

I don't even like the lying about the age. It's so unnecessary.

03:13:38 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I think if you're lying about your age, there's other stuff that you're lying about.

03:13:42 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 1:

about what you do whether you did or didn't i'm just saying for sake of the conversation here like if somebody's lying about what they do the mugshot thing that's slightly unfair because i and by the way i you know deep diving somebody that you just went out with every girl does it yeah so but the fact that that wasn't brought up on the date that to me is not strange i don't think that that should

03:14:07 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 4:

have been brought up on a coffee date right right right but it's just the compilation of all the things that were lied about that made me like okay i just can't trust this guy's word right off the bat so it's really that for me it's not about one individual thing like if you tell me what you did and you're authentic about it i don't have any problem as long as you can kill anybody or danger

03:14:26 - 03:14:51 | Speaker 2:

but i would like to you know i would like to ask the listeners this because and obviously i'm sure you'll have an opinion on this situation but i'd like to ask the listeners what's the biggest thing that a date lied to you about and how did you find out about it? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. First, though, Samantha wants to make a comment about this date here. What's up, Samantha?

03:14:52 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

03:14:54 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Morning.

03:14:55 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 3:

So when I first was talking to my husband and we were dating,

03:15:00 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 7:

and whatnot. I swear on my life, he told me he worked for Hostess. So like two months in, I was like, when am I going to get some benefits for you working for Hostess? And he's like, what are you talking about? I work for Chrysler. I was like, no, we were at dinner. I had the whole scenario in my head laid out. It was a complete dream. That was a joke. He never told me he worked

03:15:24 - 03:15:27 | Speaker 3:

for Hostess. He was trying to give you that cream filling. That's all that is.

03:15:27 - 03:16:05 | Speaker 2:

so maybe it was a misunderstanding a miss uh you know a speaking situation uh who knows texters though are not saying that texters are going this guy's a flat-out liar and he's in law enforcement another texter said how does he have a record and he's working security don't they also check that um there's a lot of people texting at 95500 um hold on will wants to comment here will you we were talking about uh dates lying to you did you have a date lie to you

03:16:06 - 03:16:22 | Speaker 3:

well she technically didn't lie she just got off uh got up off the table uh and i noticed that her butt changed come to find out she had butt pads on wait wait that's so good are butt pads like

03:16:22 - 03:16:27 | Speaker 2:

the wonder bras that used to you know see a lot of women wear

03:16:27 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 3:

I need butt pads

03:16:35 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 2:

I got no ass you better not come here Will I'm telling you I do I need it I'm sorry I know my guy this texter in here says I think I dated you Adrian are you Adrian Adrian from Shelby Township. Adrian, are you from Shelby Township? Oh, God.

03:16:58 - 03:17:01 | Speaker 6:

Listen, the way this conversation is going, I feel like I need my lawyer president.

03:17:03 - 03:17:09 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. I don't want to self-incriminate. I don't want to have to murder myself. Alisa.

03:17:09 - 03:17:16 | Speaker 4:

No, because right now, we got to know what she's got to say. So let's be real. I mean, I met you close to the area. Is that where you're from, Adrian?

03:17:16 - 03:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on a second. Oh, my God. Okay.

03:17:19 - 03:17:24 | Speaker 5:

We're about to find the pot of gold here. What do you mean? Why are you backing up? Call that girl.

03:17:25 - 03:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Call that girl. What's up, Vanessa? How you doing?

03:17:27 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you?

03:17:29 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 2:

Good. You had a guy that lied to you. What did he lie about?

03:17:32 - 03:17:36 | Speaker 4:

He lied about his whole last name so that I couldn't find his record.

03:17:37 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's interesting.

03:17:39 - 03:17:44 | Speaker 1:

How far did they think they were going to be able to take this?

03:17:45 - 03:17:52 | Speaker 4:

Pretty far. I searched him and tried to search for his record and everything, make sure he was good, and I didn't find anything, So I thought he was good.

03:17:52 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 1:

And then I found out that it's not. But what I'm saying is how far into a relationship can you get lying about your last name? We got three months in before I figured it out.

03:18:02 - 03:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's a long time.

03:18:04 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 1:

Also, I feel bad for you that right away you were like, I need to make sure he doesn't have a record. I feel like you've had a pattern of bad relationships.

03:18:12 - 03:18:13 | Speaker 2:

Toya, what's up?

03:18:14 - 03:18:15 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

03:18:16 - 03:18:16 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

03:18:17 - 03:18:18 | Speaker 6:

How are you guys?

03:18:18 - 03:18:27 | Speaker 2:

We're great. What's going on, Toya? We're talking to Adrian and Natalie, and I think Adrian's wishing he never called us. Second date update. What's going on?

03:18:28 - 03:18:52 | Speaker 6:

So I had a guy who lied about two things. He said he lived alone, and when I went to his house, he clearly lived with his mother. All the disorder was from the 70s. And then he got a quarter to this day and age where we're sexting, so he sent me a photo of his genitals, and it was decent. Well, when we got in person, it was toddler size.

03:18:54 - 03:19:01 | Speaker 2:

Wait, images appear larger. He sent you another person's penis, or what did he do, Google a penis?

03:19:03 - 03:19:08 | Speaker 6:

He did. He admitted to sending a photo because he knew his was small.

03:19:08 - 03:19:13 | Speaker 3:

You have a little penis. Oh, my God. Did you let him get some?

03:19:14 - 03:19:17 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not, Kev. No, I left.

03:19:18 - 03:19:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, that's craziness.

03:19:21 - 03:19:25 | Speaker 6:

Thank you for the call, Toya.

03:19:25 - 03:19:26 | Speaker 2:

We appreciate it.

03:19:27 - 03:19:27 | Speaker 6:

You're welcome.

03:19:30 - 03:19:39 | Speaker 2:

Natalie, we cannot get the texter on the phone here that wants to know if Adrian's from Shelby Township, but can you do a little background check and find out where he's from for us?

03:19:39 - 03:19:50 | Speaker 5:

I'll do my best, but honestly, at this point, I'm a little checked out, so I don't really care anymore to discover. I can do some research for you guys if you need, but I'm over it.

03:19:50 - 03:19:53 | Speaker 2:

All right. Second date update, Adrian. We're sorry, buddy.

03:19:54 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, listen. Thank you for hitting me on. I don't – Natalie, I mean, just give me a call.

03:20:00 - 03:20:02 | Speaker 3:

or text or something. I'd like to talk about this off air.

03:20:04 - 03:20:20 | Speaker 4:

All right. No worries. I'll do that. On the radio today, you got blown up more than you expected. I'm sorry. All right. We're going to go to Natalie's bar with Adrian and see. Could you imagine having to go back to the bar and going, yeah, it's me again.

03:20:21 - 03:20:28 | Speaker 3:

say alan lee my major is drafting and design in high school i did it since my sophomore year and i kind of want to continue it was the only thing i was good at i didn't want to move to a four-year i don't think i'm mentally prepared i found bishop state they had the program i met a few people there i ended up enrolling the instructor first i met him i told him about my background he said okay great you know about this he built me straight to work he didn't let me have any leeway he pushed me to my limits so i think that made me choose drafting design at bishop state and stuck with The support's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be, and I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department, and I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.
