00:00:30 - 00:00:39 | Speaker 6:

We've all seen the headlines. Florida man wrestles alligator in a tuxedo or Florida man sues after finding toenails in his ice cream.

00:00:39 - 00:00:43 | Speaker 2:

It's easy to laugh at the meme, but have you ever wondered about the human behind the headline?

00:00:43 - 00:00:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I'm Frankie P.

00:00:45 - 00:00:49 | Speaker 2:

And I'm Amelia. On our podcast, Hidden Florida and Beyond, we're going beneath the surface of the sunshine state.

00:00:49 - 00:00:56 | Speaker 7:

From interviews with real people who make Florida weird. I'm pulling it up. And as I'm pulling it up, I see an arm.

00:00:57 - 00:00:57 | Speaker 6:

Stop it.

00:00:57 - 00:00:58 | Speaker 7:

Come down.

00:00:58 - 00:01:06 | Speaker 2:

to deep dives into the stories you didn't know you were looking for. Hey, give it up for Mark Wahlberg on the podcast today. It's more than just a meme, it's a lifestyle.

Here at the Happiness Lab, we're serving up some hot takes for the summer. Big ideas that just might reshape how you think about your well-being. Like the radical notion that we should get rid of small talk completely.

00:01:27 - 00:01:32 | Speaker 8:

We talk about current events. We talk about what you do for a living. But not, do you love what you do for a living? Is this your dream job?

00:01:33 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 3:

For more surprising ideas backed by psychological science, check out our new series, Happiness Hot Takes. Listen to the Happiness Lab with me, Dr. Laurie Santos, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:47 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 5:

I'm Mangish Hatikular, and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

00:02:06 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 1:

I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.

00:02:11 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Listen to Skyline Drive, How to Live Forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

It's showtime!

00:03:17 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 10:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Happy April Fool's Day Good to have you guys here with us On what I say is, to me, my least favorite day in radio April Fool's Day Now, I'm not gonna lie We have pulled off some funny April Fool's Day pranks in the past But we have all done them with lots of protests in mind It was usually one of our program directors, a promotions person, or a radio consultant that said you had to have an April Fool's Day joke. And there have been some fun ones that we've done over the years. Like the probably most infamous one was when we moved the Detroit Red Wings to Windsor and made them the Windsor Wings. Or one of my all-time favorites when we had the plastic surgeon that was airing on the air that was doing plastic surgery just for children. And now I think that actually is a thing. I think there's probably just a guy that's doing Botox for kids or something. But there's been plenty of these things that we've pulled off over the years. And I'm going to say this today. If anybody tries to pull an April Fool's Day prank on us, they're...

00:05:00 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 3:

banned from the show for at least a week they're not allowed to uh to listen or to call in and do anything because i despise this day it's too late you came into the studio and it looked like a gender reveal i'm confused that was that that is from uh a promo superstar liss who is uh one of our great superstars here who now caused for me to have to pull things off of... By the way, Liss, don't ever decorate our studio. If you want to decorate anything, you can decorate any other part of this building, but don't ever decorate our studio. Do Cody's disc. Yeah. But am I curmudgeon? I think so. I think I am, and I'm fine with it. I don't either.

00:05:46 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 1:

I feel like April Fool's Day is 100% for kids. My kids are so into it. It's, like, their favorite holiday next to Christmas, and they plan for it all year long of who they're going to get, you know, with a prank or joke or whatever.

00:06:01 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think when you're a kid, it's, like, the thing. Sometimes, in some instances, it's more exciting than your birthday or, like, Halloween. It's literally, like, one of those major holidays. You get so excited, and then you hit seventh grade, and it's like, I don't really care.

00:06:16 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

I don't have an adult day.

00:06:18 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, I will say this. Attorneys have made it hard for us because the ones that we want to do, the ones that we feel like are, oh, that's funny. I guess that's edgy. That's funny. The attorneys automatically shoot down. I remember the day where we didn't have attorneys. But, you know, Megan is out sick again today. But here's what we're going to do for an April Fool's Day joke. We're just going to tell everybody that Megan has either joined the convent and she's going to become a nun. so she has left radio to do that or she ran away with some dude and she's going to F to get a baby. I don't know. What can we say? Where can Megan be? She's feeling a little bit better than she was yesterday she said but she'll be back hopefully maybe tomorrow so she's going to take an extra day.

00:07:06 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. My initial thoughts are like way too

00:07:08 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 3:

serious. Yeah. Talk to the attorneys. Talk to the attorneys before we do it. Megan might have an attorney who knows yes but you don't want to make sure that it all gets cleared but we're done we're done no i know no april fool this is not an april fool's day joke it's mojo in the morning show kevin came in this morning to tell us that he left for work this morning and left a stranger

00:07:32 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 1:

in his bed she's not a stranger wait i was not in the studio when this conversation was stranger in his bed i was pulling all audio for the dirty so i missed this so you need to start from the

00:07:44 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 2:

beginning i'll keep forgetting how conversations can make their way on air like i didn't send this in as a topic last night when i brought it up i didn't think it would make it on air but here we are i have been seeing someone for about a little over a month and she come out she comes over periodically and um she lives about 40 minutes from where i live so it's a bit of a drive yeah And she works in the downtown area as well, so it's not like she was going to go all the way back home. So I'm like, I really enjoy seeing you. I really enjoy spending time with you. I want you to come over when you have the flexibility in your schedule to do so. How about you just spend a night, and then I'm not going to leave you a key, but just, you know, lock the bottom lock before you leave. Yeah. So, yeah, she in the mirror. And you trust her tonight? I guess. You know what I'm saying? That is one of those things, because this is the first time I've ever done anything like this. I don't leave people in my home. Like, that's not, I don't even invite people over. Like, I haven't even invited y'all over. And I know y'all for real. Nice guy. You know what I'm saying? Like, so this is totally out of my character. But I got the ring camera set up. So only thing I care about is if other people come in. I don't care about, you know. That's what I was going to say.

00:08:54 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

Is there anything in your apartment that you are worried that she would either see or take or?

00:09:00 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, you put all the mail up. You put all the, that kind of stuff away. That's the only thing I really care. My Mars Yards, I care about those. You put what? Your what?

00:09:08 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

My mail up. Your mail, like the bills and stuff?

00:09:11 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:09:12 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

So your financials, you got hidden somewhere.

00:09:17 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I just. Where do you hide it? I put them under the muffins my grandma gave me in the kitchen.

00:09:22 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

If you're listening.

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Go to the muffin. Strange lady.

00:09:26 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

The muffin man is going to go out.

00:09:30 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

If the muffins are moved, then I know she was fumbling around and stuff.

00:09:34 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 3:

See, I still think, I don't know how long that you guys have, you said it's been a few weeks? A little over a month. A little over a month. I still don't know if I trust somebody that I've only known for a little over a month to be staying at my place, or as you would say, my crib. I know.

00:09:50 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 2:

I left her a little washcloth, a little towel, got the extra two brushes. You did.

00:09:54 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you gave her the big towel and the little towel? Yeah. That's love.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Did you leave her a note? No, she didn't get a note.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 3:

on the cheek before I left? Did you? Yeah. The rain camera is set up to see the front door in the kitchen. The only thing I care about is if somebody gets let in.

00:10:08 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 4:

That's the only thing I need to see. What if she right now is leaving you an upper decker? That would be insane.

00:10:16 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 3:

She fine enough, though. I wouldn't even trip. Oh, my God.

00:10:19 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 4:

So a fine girl can leave you an upper decker.

00:10:21 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

We all do it. All right, Trippin.

00:10:22 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

But a not fine girl cannot.

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

We don't all do it.

00:10:26 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, you do it.

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 3:

I have never given someone

00:10:29 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 4:

an upper decker not on purpose all right all right here's here's my question even in your sorority days here's my question how many of you guys think kev should trust a girl he's only known for a few weeks that's at his house right now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 texas 95500 and has anybody ever had somebody come stay at their place they left them there and that person ended up robbing them. That's the story I want.

00:11:02 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

I want to know. Please call. I would be so angry. Yeah. Like what's the first thing

00:11:06 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

you're looking for when you get home? Like if you get robbed I'd be furious. You have jewelry or anything like that?

00:11:12 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 3:

No I'm not a big jewelry person. Okay question. Do you expect when you get home to have the bed made? Nah I ain't tripping on that.

00:11:20 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

What happens if she doesn't make the bed? that makes her look messy.

00:11:23 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 3:

No, it's okay.

00:11:23 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 4:

I think she's got to make the bed. She's got to make the bed. Yeah.

00:11:26 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 3:

I got her a silk pillowcase so her hair can be nice. She didn't have to worry about all that. Wait, you like her. I mean, I just try to make them feel comfortable.

00:11:34 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 4:

Why? We haven't even met this girl. We haven't even met. We probably won't. We haven't.

00:11:38 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Can I see a picture?

00:11:39 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

Why would we?

00:11:40 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 3:

Is this someone I've seen a picture of?

00:11:41 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Why would you say that we won't? What's your reasoning? You're letting her stay at your house this morning and you're not going to even have her into a relationship where friends can meet her? I'm done with the public relationship.

00:11:51 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 3:

Actually, Kev, I think you wait a little while longer before introducing her to us. Next time I'll pop out with somebody, she'll have a ring on her finger already.

00:12:01 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm done with all that. I still think this is not a good idea. I really do. I agree. I mean, to me, I feel like you're going to come home and it's going to be a crime scene. My door is going to be wide open. Wait, wait, what happens if God forbid, like, what would you do if you go home and there's police tape all over the place and Olivia is there? Like she died? Or something, yeah. Well, thank God I wasn't there. Well, but they're going to blame it on you because you were the last that was supposed to be there. Well, I have a real alibi. Well, no, because we don't know where you were beforehand. Hey, Sean, what's going on? What do you think of this, Sean?

00:12:41 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she just sent you a picture. Oh, she just sent you a picture. Here. For real?

00:12:44 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 2:

My wife and I, we actually moved a girl in that she was trying to get with. We're trying to have an actual relationship with, have a three-way relationship.

00:12:53 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 4:

Wait, stop for a second real quick. I'm going to take advice from the guy who says, my wife and I moved a girl in that we were going to have a relationship with. This is like, you guys were going to have like a...

00:13:04 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 2:

A three-way relationship. Okay. It's not a truffle. Or a truffle, sorry.

00:13:08 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. This is what we're starting with today. Go ahead.

00:13:11 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, you guys were talking about roommates have stolen from you. Well, this bitch stole. Sorry, my language. Hold on.

00:13:20 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 4:

You can't say excuse. You can't wait. Stop for a second, Sean. Sean. Sean, you can't use an F word on radio. So you can't say that. So you started with saying, excuse my effing language. Don't say that. What did the girl that you moved in for a throuple that you didn't know for very long steal from you?

00:13:45 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 2:

$200 worth of food and $600 worth of my rent.

00:13:50 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 4:

So she stole money, but food was the first thing that you mentioned. What did she do?

00:13:55 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Fill grocery bags and walk out?

00:13:57 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

The first thing is because I have five kids.

00:13:59 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Wait, you were moving in a girl. Sean, I can't take advice from you. You're a bad dad and a weird guy. Hold on a second. Hold on. Next caller. Reg, or Megan. Hi, Megan.

00:14:13 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

00:14:14 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 4:

We're doing good. What do you think about Kev, this girl that he just has been with for, like, three weeks? She's staying at his house right now.

00:14:23 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Man, he needed to say goodbye to her last night.

00:14:26 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

Yes. I couldn't. I couldn't do it, Megan. Send her on her way.

00:14:32 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 1:

You're crazy. She's got black man material on you when you get home. She's going to have your T-shirt. She's going to steal all kinds of craziness.

00:14:41 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 4:

Remember when you were in school back in the day and they would steal your clothes? That's kind of the thing. Exactly. They're going to steal one of his 8,000 Pistons hats that he has.

00:14:50 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask one question, Kevin? Kevin, can I ask one question? Please. You made sure she was on the pill, right?

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

We didn't even have sex. Come on.

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 3:

Why was she staying over?

00:15:01 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, dude. I enjoy spending town with him.

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 3:

You believe that?

00:15:05 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, you know that's a lie.

00:15:06 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 6:

I know.

00:15:07 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 3:

He's a liar. He better be using protection. This guy better not get himself into it.

00:15:10 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 6:

He is a liar, man. You better go to church after this show.

00:15:13 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to any more gender reveals for him until he's married. There's no more gender.

00:15:19 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 6:

Man, it's Easter season, and look at you.

00:15:21 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 3:

I know. I'm resurrecting. The Lord died on the cross so that Kevin can have a girl stay overnight. Unreal.

00:15:30 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 6:

Ten hell marries. Ten hell marries, Kevin.

00:15:33 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

I love my mama now, Liz. Thank you, Megan. I appreciate it. Take care of yourself.

00:15:36 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 6:

Have a great day, fellas.

00:15:38 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 3:

All right. You too. And me. Well, you're a fella, too, because you own an upper-decker.

00:15:42 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 6:

I have never given anyone an upper-decker. Shannon's squatting right over the top. I have gotten one. I have been on the receiving end.

00:15:50 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Troy?

00:15:52 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I support Kevin. She must be really hot. He's all in for her. Let her stay, man. Ain't nothing much she can take when you have cameras. Women are, like, scared when it comes to the cameras.

00:16:03 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:16:04 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they might snoop and check your medicine cabinet and see if you have any, like, pills or some shit. Oh, my God.

00:16:11 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 3:

Guys. Dump that, too. That's awful. You can't swear. Yeah, you can't. She's really hot. You can't swear, Troy. You cannot swear on the radio.

00:16:21 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 4:

We need a picture, though. I think she's really hot.

00:16:23 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

I want a picture, too. I want to see. I've not seen what she looks like. I want to see what's going on. Next that's up, by the way, Troy, you know what she's doing right now? She's looking around the house for spare keys, and she's going to make herself one, and this girl is going to have access to Kevin's crib.

00:16:40 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. We need pictures. What's her ID, Kev? I told her she can come whenever she wants.

00:16:45 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I'm calling the building security. We're going to make sure she leaves at an appropriate time. Shannon, what's up? Hi.

00:16:52 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 6:

What's up? How you going? This is Shannon. Hey, Shannon. Hey, Shannon. kevin you really like you really like i do i do i'm in i think i think um what you're doing i think you're good man because you don't do this often it's your first time something about her but something about her man go for it thank you thank you shannon you'll find out soon enough and she ain't worth it but when a man knows and he's feeling her he's gonna do everything and trust me she is telling her girlfriend girl I'm over here last night and talking all night I'm telling you you are in there she ain't doing nothing to your place but just enjoying it

00:17:39 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

hey Shannon how soon until she moves in or do you think she'll ever move out she's probably never gonna leave this is gonna be the start of us talking five years from now, the girl that's never left.

00:17:53 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 6:

And that's going to be his wife and he's going to live happily ever after. Preach, Shani.

00:18:00 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Or she's going to steal from him. That's the type of call we want. You have positivity in her voice. Except for the two yahoos that we had before him. It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:18:13 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the Day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:18:18 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 3:

All right, this was the year that a newscaster had this to say about winning a hot dog eating contest. It's going to be one of those weeks, I can tell.

00:22:08 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 6:

You almost said traffic, didn't you?

00:22:10 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 3:

I'll be honest with you, no. I did one of those dramatic pauses, but I do do that a lot. I was actually going to say, Shannon, who we busted in the water? No.

00:22:19 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 6:

That's later. With Kid Rock standing by his side, President Trump signed an executive order. yesterday that he says will help curb ticket scalping and bring some changes to the way that live entertainment events are priced. This is actually really great news for concert lovers. This order also orders the Federal Trade Commission to ensure price transparency at all stages of the ticket purchasing process. So you are going to know right at the start how much these tickets are going to cost you with all of those fees and taxes and everything included. Kid Rock, by the did you guys see this press conference dressed in that red white and blue like suit i don't know but he said anybody who has bought a concert ticket in the past two decades knows and he used this word what a conundrum this is and the artists don't see any of that money and you know ultimately

00:23:10 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 5:

i think this is a great first step uh i would love down the road if there'd be some legislation we could actually put a cap on the resale of tickets and i'm a capitalist and a deregulation guy but they've tried this in some places in Europe and it seems to be the only thing that's us as artists be able to get the tickets in the hands of the fans at the prices we set.

00:23:29 - 00:23:51 | Speaker 3:

They say that the one thing that Trump's trying to do is these, what he's called, 90-10 things, where 90% of people agree with it, 10% disagree with it and stuff. This is one of those ones I think 100% of people agree. For sure. That you're charging weight, that what happened with the Taylor Swift concert should never happen ever again. People paying $4,000 and $5,000 for the price of tickets.

00:23:51 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 6:

Absolute insanity. But yeah, I mean, this was an official press conference yesterday.

00:23:56 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 4:

Did Biden do news conferences like this, Peter?

00:23:59 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. No. He was never standing next to somebody who looked like they were about to get shot out of a cannon.

00:24:05 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 6:

During that same press conference yesterday, by the way, the president commenting on the relationship between his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa, and golfer Tiger Woods.

00:24:19 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 2:

What is your thought about Tiger Woods now becoming part of the broader Trump family?

00:24:49 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

five incredible children they have a very special very good relationship with tiger i played golf with him a couple of times over the last month and he's a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete

00:25:00 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 1:

He told me about it, and I said, Tiger, that's good. That's good. I'm very happy for both. I just let them both be happy. Isn't that wild? Isn't Tiger just tears Achilles? Yeah, so he's out of the Masters coming up. But he's playing golf? I played a month or so ago, he said, a couple months. But, no, he did play with Trump because there was a bunch of pictures of those guys playing each other. The Tiger thing that's interesting is the daughter of Don Jr., who's the daughter of this woman who's dating Tiger, they say is going to be one of the best female golfers. Kai. Kai. Kai Trump. And there's rumors that Tiger and mom met because Tiger was giving her some extra added lessons. And so that's how they would, you know, obviously they knew each other through the relationship that the president had. But that's kind of interesting. Could you imagine having Tiger as your coach? That's like having, like, LeBron or Michael better. No, not better.

00:26:02 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 2:

Question for you, though. I obviously, like you said, the 90-10 rule, but 100% of us can agree that ticket prices are crazy, and we need to bring that down. I don't know if I'm a fan of trying to put a cap on the resale market because it's resale. If somebody's willing to pay that amount, then who are you to tell me that I can't sell it at that price?

00:26:23 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 1:

I think what should be is not the cap on it. I think it should be that bots aren't buying them and ticket scalper guys are buying them. It should be the average human being should be able to have those tickets. And yeah, you know, you get season tickets to the Pistons and you want to sell your tickets. Yeah, go for it. Make a little bit of money if you're, you know, Joe, you know, guy, whatever. But if you're a bot and a company that's in Dallas, Texas, that is worth billions, which is what is now happening with like Lions tickets, there's outside influences that are buying all these tickets and then selling them and they're

00:26:55 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 3:

making the prices way too high for average for sure asap rocky will be co-chairing this year's met gala alongside pharrell williams coleman domingo lewis hamilton lebron james i believe is serving as honorary chair this year the theme is super fine tailoring black style and if you're going wait is asap rocky really a beacon of fashion well the editor-in-chief of vogue anna Wintour, who puts on this Met Gala, absolutely thinks so. Well, I mean, first of all, they're very talented. They're very brilliant. I think they have wonderful values and they have an enormous amount of style. I love the Met Gala, by the way. And if you do as well, it's going down May 5th this year. And lastly, there's a new surgery, plastic surgery, that is all the rage, that has people going under the knife to reposition their rib cage. It's a new procedure that has women specifically shelling out thousands of dollars to undergo this procedure to get an hourglass figure and make the rib cage slimmer. By rearranging somebody's ribs, anybody can lose several inches off their waist. Recovery time, two to three weeks. Scarring is minimal. The cost is between $14,000 and $16,000. After the procedure, you have to wear a corset to control how small you want your waistline and your rib cage could be. But this is this new up-and-coming surgery that everybody wants to have done out. It's insane. Yeah, it's called like rib X-car or something like that.

00:28:25 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 1:

I would like them just to sew my mouth shut. No, you can't. I think if they sewed my mouth shut, I would probably not. I don't need shots. I just need that to happen.

00:28:35 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 3:

00:32:39 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 1:

00:32:42 - 00:32:45 | Speaker 2:

Four out of five. You got to be good, Nina.

00:32:45 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Come on, Nina. I'm going to do my best.

00:32:48 - 00:33:10 | Speaker 2:

All right. Question number one. Today is April 1st, which is also known as which holiday? April Fool's Day. Yes. One to one. Question number two. Machine Gun Kelly is setting the record straight on his brand new baby girl's name. Which actress did he have that baby with? Megan Fox.

Question number three. Yesterday during a press conference, President Trump commented on his former daughter-in-law dating this famous golfer. Who is he? Tiger Woods. Yes. Three to three. She's got to miss these next ones, okay? Question number four. By the way, Tara missed this one. The women's NCAA March Madness tournament kicks off this weekend. Who won the tourney last year? Was it A, South Carolina, B, UConn, or C, Iowa? UConn. No. That was a good guess because they've won a bunch. South Carolina.

00:33:59 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 1:

South Carolina.

00:34:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

It comes down to this. The last question. Question number five. If you missed this one, we got ourselves a new champion and she's going to be sunning and funning in Florida. If you get it right, you're back tomorrow getting closer to double digit wins. Nina, good luck to you. Question number five. The number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 charts right now is Luther. Name one of the two artists that sings that song. Kendrick Lamar. You're still our champion. She wins with a tie. We would never doubt that you would lose. Come on, Nina. All I do is win. Thank you. All you do is win, win, win, no matter what. Every time you step up in the building, what do you do? You put those hands up in the air and you smoke a...

00:35:00 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Another one. Right? And they stay there. Win, win, win. Congratulations to you. Great job. Nice win. Thank you. Tara, we're going to give you some good food, okay? We'll get you set up with that. Hang on the phone for just one second. Enjoy Florida. It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. Have the best time. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live. War of the Roses, could you imagine that you lose a girlfriend and a roommate all on the same day, and now you've got to find a new place to live or who's going to be moving out this morning? A boyfriend thinks that his girlfriend is cheating with their roommate. She and he live with another guy, and he thinks that this guy who he says that he's been friends with and trusts is now cheating with his girlfriend. This morning's War of the Roses, a three-way call. You'll hear that coming up in probably do the math right now, 37 minutes maybe. I don't know, something like that. So, like, right after the dirty on the 30, like right around 740-ish or so. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. You know, a lot of people do ride shares, right? You take an Uber or a Lyft and you do your thing in it. Shannon took a special Uber. And this is not like the cash cab. This is what kind of an Uber? The farting Uber. The farting Uber.

00:36:40 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 2:

And you know what reminded me of this was Kev during our pre-show meeting announcing to everybody that he had to fart. And he went out in the hallway. it was the most I've ever heard I like to make announcements but here's the thing about Kev's farts they don't smell thank you Sam I don't get so full of it no they actually don't it's not fair it smelled my husband's the same way too

00:37:09 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 1:

Kev it's not fair okay so stop for a second before you tell this uber story you're telling me that you don't think his fart smell and you're thinking that That your husband's spit doesn't stink either?

00:37:20 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 2:

No, I've never smelled his spit, but if he farts, there is no smell. I don't understand how that is possible.

00:37:30 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 1:

What kind of a diet are both these guys eating? Way too clean. I know that Kevin's not. I drink my kombucha.

00:37:36 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 2:

I got clean gut. That's my favorite kind, by the way. Okay, so when we took our spring break trip to Florida last week, And when we landed, it was myself and Lucy and Smith, and we had to get a car to go to our hotel, which was about 47 minutes from the airport. So it was kind of far. That's a long, that's a long car ride. And so we get into the car with this woman. Her name was Natalia. And she was very nice, and she drove a black Toyota minivan. and immediately about a minute or two into the ride I can smell something and I'm looking at my two children because I'm thinking it is for sure one of them they stink and they're looking at me with this expression of mom oh my gosh it's so terrible so we realize it's our uber driver who is just blown ass. It smells so bad. It got to the point where Smith goes, man, it stinks in here. And I'm looking at him like, please stop. It was so bad. Well, here's where this comes full circle. Fast forward five days, we're getting picked up from the hotel to go back to the airport for that 47-minute drive again, and who rolls up? The black Toyota with Natalia as the driver. And I'm thinking, is it too late to say, you know what? We're not ready to switch it and get a different driver. What are the odds? Do we know for a fact that it was a fart?

00:39:15 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 1:

Do we know that that's the case, that she's farting? Or maybe she just has...

00:39:18 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 2:

No, it was a fart. It was a lot of farts.

00:39:22 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Were they leather or cloth seats?

00:39:24 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 2:

They were... No, I'm trying to think. Leather seats.

00:39:27 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they are? Okay. What kind of car was it? Do you remember?

00:39:29 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 2:

It was a Toyota Mini... Black Toyota Mini Van. All right, that's a problem.

00:39:31 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you, there's the problem.

00:39:32 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

Very clean.

00:39:33 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say this. There's a problem, and this is no offense to any Toyota owners. But for some reason, Toyota seats hide. So my son drives a RAV4, and in his car, I have been in his car before, and I've driven his car, and he will come back into the house. This is Jacob. He has come back in the house and said, Dad, did you just fart in that car? It hides the farts inside. the seats i don't know what the story is this is a myth have you ever farted in your car and then you get out of your car to go take on the day and have you ever take on the day no have you ever had that happen to you and then all of a sudden you get you get back in the car sometime later and

00:40:15 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 2:

the car still has the fart smell in it you trapped it in there you farted and you shut the door and

00:40:19 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

it's been brewing this whole time yes son yeah it's it stays in it stays in the seats it hides in the seats that's why i thought it was cloth because jacob has like these uh special cloth

00:40:29 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 4:

kind of seats no it was for sure leather okay and she had she had those air fresheners in the cup holders that look like little mini cans of pop yeah so she had air fresheners in the car she was aware yeah that she had a stomach ache it was just too powerful and was trying to hide it you think so it was really bad it was really really bad she had the bubble gut you're saying that she had the bubble but when that car rolled up to take us back please no did she fart on the

00:40:57 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 1:

way back she did not okay so it passed she did not all right 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 has anybody ever gotten into the smelly car the smelly cab or the smelly uh uh uh you know uber lyft or whatever and do what do you do do you get right out automatically like if the car smells i've done that before in a cab in new york where i've gotten out yeah yeah it just smelled so bad yeah i've had it before where i've had um uh the person had their food in the car with them so they ate they bought food they got the call that i wanted to get the ride they came and picked me up and they had their food sitting there on the seat and i'm going oh that's just i don't want to for some reason other people's food doesn't smell good to me like i don't you like i swear to you i don't like if i go into a restaurant it smells good to me when somebody else has food with them like here at the radio station too like people come in uh casey from uh the rock station casey will bring in food from down the hall down the street um and i'll smell i go oh it just doesn't smell good to me and it's no offense to his food because i'm sure it's wonderful he looks like a guy that eats good food it smells like like rotten a-hole you know

00:42:12 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 4:

you know what i hate about getting into an uber where somebody's eating food is then especially Especially if I'm going somewhere nicer, like a fancy event, and then you smell, like, whatever it is that they were eating.

00:42:23 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I've been in Ubers where, and I don't know if they're trying to mask the stench, but it's, like, super colon-y in there.

00:42:30 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 4:

I hate that even more.

00:42:31 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 2:

We got to roll down a window. Like, that's my thing, and I'm not asking. If it's a log, we hitting a window, and hopefully you can get it. If I can taste it. Oh, God.

00:42:39 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

By the way, have you guys ever had an Uber driver tell you that you can't roll their window down? like that had that happen no i was in a one what's the mustang electric car's name the mock i was in somebody's mock and they would not let me roll the windows down because they said they had the temperature at perfect temperature but i was honestly wanting to feel breeze like i wanted to feel like the air on me because i had had some drinks tip perfect tip for who for them not you i know yeah that's a three star um what's going on let me grab uh let me grab emily hair what's uh Emily, Emily, what's going on? Hi. Hi, Emily. Oh, I lost you. Let's go to Uber Marvin. Uber driver Marvin, what's going on?

00:43:27 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Marvin.

00:43:28 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

00:43:29 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 1:

What's up, man? How you doing, buddy?

00:43:31 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up? Haven't heard from you in a minute.

00:43:33 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 1:

Hey, it's good to talk to you. Shannon got into the fart Uber. Your Uber doesn't smell like a fart, Marvin, does it?

00:43:40 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 3:

No, mine smell like leather. And Jolly Ranchers. There you go.

00:43:46 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever had a customer get in and their smell lingered for a while?

00:43:52 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I had people get in and smell like beef stew. I had people get in and smell like fish. When people actually get in my car, I try to make sure I tell them that they bring in food or something. I try to tell them to put it in the trunk because it lingers in the car for so long. and then I have to spray it sometimes to get some cleaner and clean the seat off because it just sits and smells.

00:44:17 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 2:

Marvin, I'm going to be honest with you, man. You're an amazing person. You do a great job driving. The car is clean. I'm not putting my food in a trunk, your car. I'm not doing it. Are y'all doing that?

00:44:29 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't care if I put my food in the trunk. Well, it depends. It depends. Look, you got to think about it. It depends. If it's just from like a seafood place with a plastic bag, It's not going to say if you're taking it out, it's in a carry-out, it's nice, that type of food. But come on, man. No, no, no. You're coming from a chicken fry. You're coming from a chicken fry.

00:44:50 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. If the man tells me I got to do that and that's the only way I'm going to have a ride, I'm going to get in his car and I'm going to abide by his rules. His car, his rules.

00:45:00 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 4:

He can't roll down the window? It's that bad? You know what? If it's your food, you in that wing stop place or whatever the hell you eat.

00:45:07 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 3:

Want sweet water? Sweet water. We got to go, y'all. Y'all got to taste the vibes.

00:45:11 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 4:

So, Marvin, beef stew smell. I got it. Now, that's what I'm going to smell all day today. I'm going to be smelling beef stew. That's the worst. So random. Hey, thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate you, man. Love you, brother. You're welcome. A couple of texters here say that they've gotten into the cabs before and it smells horrible like cologne. Do you ever get in and a guy smells like Dracar Noir? Do you remember Dracar Noir? And these guys smell like that all the time. And then I've gotten into a couple. I've gotten into, I won't say the guy's name, but he's a friend of mine who drives. And he smells so much like weed. I was like, oh, God. And I'm like, you're driving me? Like, I don't even know if I want you driving me off this.

00:45:58 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 3:

Some weeds smell good, though. I will say that.

00:46:01 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. My problem is I don't want to have me smelling like weed. What's going on, Hannah? Hi.

00:46:08 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. I had an Uber a morning after going out with my friends in Chicago, and it so clearly smelled like somebody had thrown up in it the night before.

00:46:21 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That's awful. That is so bad. Yeah, so what do you do in that case when the person's got a throw-up car? I'm not getting in that car.

00:46:32 - 00:46:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was cleaned, obviously, but, I mean, I kind of just put up with it because it was like a 10-minute drive or something, so I was like, okay, but I mean, I get car sick, so I'm pretty sensitive. Otherwise, if it was longer, I would have gotten out.

00:46:48 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 5:

That's one of those smells that does not go away right away.

00:46:50 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 4:

I'm that lazy that I will not walk 10 minutes when I can ride in a throw-up car. You know what I mean? Although I'd rather smell the throw-up car than the Dracar Noir. So I don't know.

00:47:06 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 1:

You were the mistress before being the girlfriend? Oh, that'll work. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 740 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:16 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. I'm going to have a hot take here right now. that may piss off some people, but if it pisses you off, I don't care because I'm standing by this whole thing. I believe that you cannot accept relationship advice from somebody that is not in a relationship. Prove me wrong on this one. And here's what I'm going to say. I've got a friend of mine that is going through a little bit of relationship issues, been dating, thinking about marriage. Now he's thinking about breaking up. I mean, it's a bad deal and there is another friend of ours that is giving him his relationship advice I just recently found out and he's not accepting my relationship advice or he's not even asking me for it like I actually had to say hey I heard a rumor and then he goes yeah that's true he's there's a guy that we have that we're all kind of mutually all group chatting and group texting with us one guy who has literally in all the time that I've known him never dated anybody I've never seen this man with another woman nor man actually the joke to me all the time was he talks about relationships so much and talks about past like a past girlfriend that he had I believe that this past girlfriend doesn't exist because we've never even seen her pop back into his life by random anytime we've ever been out with each other. So my friend who's having relationship issues never turns to me who's been married now for like, it seems like my entire life. And I think I've been through a couple of things in a relationship, right? I don't think I've had a perfect relationship. Yet he's taking advice from a person who literally has not ever been in a relationship. This is like taking diet advice from a fat person.

00:49:08 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 5:

You know what it is, though, I bet? I bet he's taking relationship advice from that other person because he thinks that other person is going to tell him what he wants to hear. That's probably a good point. And even though you are the one that has been through,

00:49:22 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 4:

you are, by the way, actually really great at giving relationship advice. Hold on, say it one more time. You are.

00:49:28 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 5:

I'll give you that. But maybe he knows that you're going to be very honest and tell him something he doesn't want to hear. So that's why he's not going to you. That's a great point.

00:49:36 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 3:

That's a great point. I disagree with your point, though. Why? People who haven't been, like this, for example. So are you saying if you and Chelsea asked me a question about your marriage because I've never been married before that I couldn't give sound advice? No, you've been in relationships, though. But I haven't been married.

00:49:54 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 5:

And you're not in a relationship right now.

00:49:55 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Like the same thing. Somebody that hasn't had kids before, but they... baby. raise their brothers and sisters they can't give me parenting advice well if they've raised so

00:50:04 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 4:

there's a difference there if they've if they have never had children or never you know been around if they've never been around children and the only thing they had were brothers and sisters they shouldn't be giving you parenting advice they're not they don't know what it's like to to be a parent if they've raised their brothers or sisters or nieces and nephews then they kind to know they're they're definitely you don't have to be a parent to be a parent i don't know i

00:50:29 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 3:

disagree with you i think that based on your life experiences you can develop a perspective that can enhance a conversation yeah or give insight to somebody's situation regardless if

00:50:41 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 4:

you've lived quote unquote in their shoes all right so so let me so let me tell you this first off the and this is the exact situation the one guy i have known for less than 10 years okay he's been a friend for less than 10 years. I have never seen this guy ever. And we've been in all every we've gone out as couples. We've gone out as friends. We've gone out to bars. I have never seen him talk to a woman for more than a couple of minutes. And this guy is saying how to do a relationship because he has a fake girlfriend that he supposedly dated and had a long time relationship with i've never seen that seen him on a date i know that this guy is full of crap when

00:51:24 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 3:

he talks about his dating so the advice that he's given yeah you're aware of the advice that he's

00:51:29 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 4:

given yeah is it sound no he's given bad advice he's given advice he's given advice to to for this guy to leave this relationship off of his alleged girlfriend that he once had and i said and i said and i said to him i said to our friend without giving out too much information I said to our friend, I said, I don't think that's something that you leave over. I think that you guys have a pretty sound relationship. I think the problem is that you guys don't know how to compromise with each other. You don't have give and take. And I'm trying to explain to him, I was the once the idiot that almost got out of a relationship with my wife, Chelsea, because I was stupid to not see what her side of the issues were. I thought that, you know, I thought I was the victim and everything.

00:52:10 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like bad advice can come from anybody. Just because you're in a relationship doesn't mean you're going to give me great advice.

00:52:17 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 4:

Like, honestly, I would never go to marriage counseling to a person that has never been married. I wouldn't. And you can call me crazy because you can say, oh, well, the guy studied to be or she studied to be a therapist. If she's never been married and doesn't know what it's like to actually put the ring on that finger and actually be in a relationship where you have to do a lot of compromising like that, I'd be like, I'm out of here, doc. I don't care what kind of diploma you have on your wall that says University of Hard Knocks. What's up, Justin? Hi.

00:52:47 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 2:

this one irks my nerves i hear this all the time i counsel relationships i've been in

00:52:55 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 4:

several relationships let's say i don't want to get into the number any any successful because if you haven't had a successful one justin you probably shouldn't be speaking up well see okay

00:53:07 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 2:

how do you define a successful relationship because let's talk to that relationship is successful let's talk to the person that you've been in a relationship with this quote-unquote successful relationships will only be the ones that are still ongoing right well no because a

00:53:23 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 4:

successful relationship is one that you also could have gotten out of you could have you could have gotten out of it because you learned something about that person or yourself that made you grow

00:53:31 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

but if it's not ongoing but if it's not ongoing did it not fail no because how do you define

00:53:37 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 4:

success i define success as you walked away from it and you actually got something out of it you

00:53:43 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 1:

know what i mean like i think there are some people that's for every relationship for sure

00:53:47 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 2:

yeah i think there are i think there are some people that beneficial relationship but that's

00:53:50 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 1:

not necessarily a successful relationship well see i disagree with you there are people in relationships that by your standards you would say are successful because they've been in a relationship for 30 years but they could be horribly miserable exactly yeah and i would consider the more successful relationship one that two people looked at each other and said this is just not working we need to get out of this relationship and be better healthier versions of ourselves that to me would be successful actually okay so with that being said that

00:54:18 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

how come the single friend couldn't give the relationship advice sure because he's got no

00:54:23 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 4:

marks that we can define as truth if they've never okay if they've never been in a relationship

00:54:28 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 2:

that's one thing but i'm saying if they're single yeah i always hear how the single friend can't give relationship advice because oh the single friend is bitter oh the single friend is hurt oh the single friend is coming from a biased perspective here's the thing that's not always

00:54:43 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 4:

true oh the single friend sits on the freaking couch all day and watches nothing but television and then complains he can't find anybody and goes and golfs the rest of the time with a bunch of guys i i'll take i'll take i'll take golf advice from him but i'm not time movies that's one thing yeah justin i'll take i'll take golf I don't know.

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 2:

advice from this guy anytime he's a great golfer but i will not take advice from this man on relationships uh that i've never even seen him in sierra what's up it's mojo in the morning

00:55:09 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 5:

hey mojo i disagree with you okay um as the conversation goes on there are so many different factors that you're including you know so it's like the bottom line isn't that a single person can't give sound advice and you know to the other point like what keith said bad advice can come from anyone and there are plenty of people that are in relationships that should not be giving advice and that probably shouldn't even be in the relationships that they're in. Let me ask you this

00:55:36 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 2:

question, Sierra. Would you take driving advice from somebody that doesn't have a driver's license

00:55:41 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 5:

and has never had one? I think that is a completely different scenario. I agree with you. How? I don't think that that applies to this conversation at all. Would you? No, I would not because driving is different relationships yeah when you have experience like you said if you have experience in relationships that may be somebody that you can take advice from would you get into an airplane

00:56:05 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 2:

and allow a guy that just flies flight simulators to fly your airplane that's still different to me

00:56:11 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 3:

okay that's still different no i wouldn't but are you just bought her you didn't get asked for the

00:56:17 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 2:

advice would you allow a man who just sits there and announces contest in between timeouts at a Pistons game to tell you how to shoot a free throw. Not a bit. What's up, Nicole? Hi. You didn't answer my question. Noah. Hi, guys. I am butthurt.

00:56:33 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. Yay! Go Zalouba!

00:56:39 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

00:56:40 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 3:

So I totally, totally felt this way about my pediatrician. I felt like he had some smart medical advice, but he never had kids. Never. And the stuff he was telling me to do with my own kids was completely unrealistic. Like, it looked good on the textbook, but it didn't work in my house. And even though he was a super nice guy, I moved on to a pediatrician that actually had kids. Because that's where I was coming from, completely sleep-deprived at 4 o'clock in the morning, letting my kid crawl in bed with me.

00:57:11 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 2:

That is interesting.

00:57:11 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 3:

That's a good one. Totally agree. Yeah, I get that one.

00:57:14 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 2:

No, that is kind of an interesting one. Especially if their parenting advice is how to parent your – or their advice to the kid as a pediatrician is how to parent the kid and get the kid through. If they've never had to stay up late at night trying to get a kid to go to bed or – if they've never had to deal with a kid with croup, that's one thing. That's when you know you're a parent when your kid has croup.

00:57:34 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 6:

What is croup?

00:57:35 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 2:

And you're sitting there at night and you have to bring them into a bathroom and have that steamy –

00:57:41 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

00:57:43 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on. Amy might have croup. She got croup. Amy. Amy, what did you want to say?

00:57:49 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 4:

Many time, long time. Hey! Welcome back. Don't some of you people or people in general take advice from a priest every Sunday about families and marriages, and he doesn't have either? Wow, what a good name.

00:58:09 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 2:

So Chelsea and I got married in the church, and when we were doing premarital counseling, she actually said, because she's not Catholic, but I am, she said she goes I don't want to go to premarital counseling to a priest we actually ended up finding another counselor yeah that is interesting Amy that's a very good point

00:58:26 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 6:

got him drop the mic Amy peace out

00:58:32 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 2:

by the way I did not mean to be so salty on this topic because of but it does it bothers me because this particular person I think he's throwing away a good thing because of a buddy that is honestly I because here's the thing I think that the other friend this is a

00:58:50 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 4:

hot take god I hope I don't get in trouble where you're going with this I think the other friend

00:58:53 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 6:

likes misery and company with his misery okay why don't you would you take your friend out and just I don't want to say force the advice but take him out to have that conversation yeah I would uh I

00:59:05 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 2:

well I have I've I've had that conversation with him I said talk to Chelsea like I always say you want you want relationship advice talk to chelsea she's way smarter than i am at this stuff i just pretend like i'm smart she's the one she's the one that knows exactly what's going on so i don't know one last call i'm hoping i'm not going to regret this one mark what's going on hey guys

00:59:27 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 6:

first time long time starting off good so i'm listening to you mojo you said you don't want

00:59:37 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 1:

to take advice from anyone who's not in a relationship but what if um a smart guy just recently got out of a relationship like where's that line at like no what if he has good advice because he was just in a relationship but he just unfortunately ended things with his girl

00:59:54 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 2:

i think that that's a good person to talk to then if he's a smart guy that just got out of a relationship i'd like to know his experience okay okay i'm not regretting this but thank you hold on jordan one last one jordan go ahead now you're gonna i'm gonna great

01:00:12 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 3:

i'm on a weight loss journey myself i've lost like 60 pounds and i always find it hilarious when like the skinniest people become these nutrition experts that are nutritionists and tell fat people how to lose the weight yeah if they've never been

01:00:32 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 2:

fat and don't know the journey how do they give that advice but maybe exactly maybe they just have great metabolisms i don't know that's true that is true like i i want to see the before and after pictures before i'm going to take your advice on something like that but yeah oh i know

01:00:50 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 3:

it's crazy i hear it all the time they're like if you just exercise more i'm like you don't exercise

01:00:54 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. Don't miss this. They are living together. All three of them. A boyfriend thinks that his roommate is cheating with his girlfriend. When we come back here next, the War of the Roses. Bust a cheater. Don't go anywhere.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:02:04 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30. We have the War of the Roses happening in just moments from now. And a boyfriend thinks that his girlfriend is cheating with their roommate. Which, by the way, that's a weird living situation where you're in a relationship. You and your girlfriend are living with another dude. Like, I mean, I don't know. I think it seems like that would be kind of a little interesting. If Chelsea wanted to introduce. No, well, like just a roommate. But with the, you know. Well, I don't think that this is what he intended, though. I think this guy intended just to have a guy pay for a room that he had in his place. And I wonder, we'll talk to him in a second here, but I wonder if he had the roommate before he got the girlfriend. You know what I mean? So maybe that's the thing.

01:02:56 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what was the order there? Hey, I want to start off the dirty by saying happy 38th birthday to one of our biggest fans. Our biggest fan in Windsor, that is for sure. I've known her on Instagram. I've never met her in person, but for years now. Her name is Dr. Reham, and today is her birthday, not an April Fool's. I love her. So happy, happy, happy. Yeah, you probably know her. She comments on all of our stuff, but today is her birthday. Birthday.

01:03:20 - 01:03:20 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:03:21 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Virginia Jufri is one of the women, one of many women, who accused Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew, and some other of the world's most powerful men of sex trafficking and rabe. Well, now she says she has just days to live after being hit by a bus. Four days is what she said specifically. The mom of three is sharing a photo of herself from a hospital bed. I don't know if you saw this. I mean, she looks beat up. Her face totally covered in bruises. She said she was suffering from kidney failure now after a bus crashed into her vehicle. I don't really have many other details. I did see late last night that Prince Andrew's ex, Lady Victoria Hervey, took to her own Instagram story to repost this photo of Virginia. And she simply wrote in all caps, CARMA. Oh, wow. As a caption. Wow. So her claim is that Virginia needed to make a complete confession after she sued Prince Andrew a couple of years ago for allegedly raping her when she was 17 years old. We know this story. Without any evidence, Prince Andrew's ex claimed, hearing from reliable sources, it is thought that the FBI went to her recently with proof that she lied with recordings where she admits that nothing actually ever happened with Prince Andrew. So this woman said she is conveniently dying to evade going to jail.

01:04:47 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Do we first? Okay. So that's, by the way, that's horrible.

01:04:51 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 1:

There's a lot of allegeds in there. Okay.

01:04:53 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to be like TikTok right now. And I'm going to say this. Do we know if this bus accident?

01:05:00 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 1:

is legit did the police and cops investigate it and say that this thing is a legit situation or i don't know like i i you always see these stories that come up and then you wonder okay well then how did she live this long but i looked at the picture of uh her virginia virginia when she was she it's the younger girl that's in the picture you know this photo of her with prince

01:05:23 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 2:

andrew she's showing her belly she's wearing a pair of jeans and a little tank top crop top

01:05:26 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 1:

She's the most notorious face of this whole crime that was taking place with this Epstein guy. Which, by the way, we still got to get these, figure out who these people are.

01:05:39 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:05:39 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy. Thank you.

01:05:41 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, Ashley St. Clair, the mom of Elon Musk's 13th child, also alleged, told reporters that she sold her Tesla to make up for the 60% cut he allegedly made to her child support. Ashley said Elon became very vindictive following her very public reveal about being his alleged baby mama. When asked if perhaps Elon intended to be vindictive, her response was this. That is his modus operandi. Is it operandi or operandi? When women speak out, this is what he does. She also said she has not spoken with him in over a month now he of course had to reply he issued a reply on x tweeting i don't know if the child is mine or not i am not against finding out no court order is needed despite not knowing for sure i have given ashley 2.5 million dollars and i'm sending her 500k a year she then responded to that saying he's already refused a paternity test before the baby was born, he refused.

01:06:52 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 1:

I have a friend of mine, by the way, that drives a Tesla, and he says that people are screaming out the windows at him.

01:06:58 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Did you see the protest? I could not think of the word, at Somerset Collection the other day.

01:07:04 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:07:05 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, last weekend?

01:07:06 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 1:

That Saturday was, I know, the day of protest. They were beating up toy cars, which is better than burning real cars like has happened in some cities where people choose the violent way to protest. But it's interesting because most of the people that drive Tesla, as I always felt like, or drive these electric cars, are usually people that are also protesting and now is trying to sell their cars. Would you sell your car to take a loss for your car? You know, I don't know. It's interesting. Are Teslas on sale because it is? Have you seen a drop in price? I don't know. Why are you thinking that? Kev's like, let me go. I'm so chill. Yeah, why not? I like the Teslas.

01:07:46 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I'm an idiot here because I thought this. Machine Gun Kelly, though, confirming that he and Megan Fox have not named their newborn baby girl Celestial Seed. I thought they did because of something that he posted last week when she was born. It was how it was worded, and I was like, oh, okay, that could be a pretty name. I'm not going to judge anybody's name. But so everybody thought that that was the newborn's name. It's not. And he said, her mom is going to tell you the name when we are ready. Referring back, of course, to Megan Fox. They're still not together, by the way. Broke up in December. Still not together.

01:08:27 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 1:

You know what? No name surprises me anymore. You know what I mean?

01:08:31 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was the way that he worded the announcement. Our little celestial seed has arrived or however he did it. And I was like, oh, that's got to be her name. And boys, I am so sorry to be the messenger here. If you have not already heard, Hooters filed for bankruptcy last night. Oh, no. Now, despite the filing and $376 million worth of debt, the brand insists it is not going away for good. It's not going anywhere. In fact, Hooters will be restructuring through Chapter 11. And as part of that restructuring, what's going to happen is the brand is going to sell more than 100 company-owned restaurants to two different franchise groups that basically operate locations in Tampa and Chicago.

01:09:14 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 1:

So the original owners that started Hooters and then franchised them are going to take it back.

01:09:20 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Back to the roots is what they're saying.

01:09:22 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, they're going to go back to wings. That's their thing is they want to go back to having their wings be their big deal. But they said that this is an interesting thing. Their new approach is going to be when people are sitting down at a table, they're going to tell the server to pay more attention to the woman at the table than pay attention to the guy, where in the past, if you ever would go to a Hooters, the guys were kind of the focus of Hooters making women feel like, oh, this is what's going on. So they're going to actually kind of change their approach a little bit. Have you ever tried Hooters Wings?

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I have tried Hooters Wings, and the...

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

a past morning show host that I worked with was obsessed with the fried pickles, so we were always getting them. He wasn't going for the pickles.

01:10:07 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm not going to lie to you. Before I had gluten, I thought they had the best wings. They were like these big breaded wings. They were so good. Can we order Sweetwater

01:10:14 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 1:

wings today? Can we do it after them? I got to try them. There's so many talk about wings

01:10:20 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 2:

and Sweetwater. We're going to be disappointed because that's all he talks about. Look at his face.

01:10:23 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to let the wings speak for their soul. For all of today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

All right, we're going to give away some Jonas Brothers tickets, then we're going to get to the War of the Roses in just seconds here. My favorite of giving away Jonas Brothers tickets is like every 20-something is going crazy over wanting to see the boy band, the brother band that they grew up with. Courtney, you're one of them. You're a winner. Congratulations, Courtney. You got tickets.

01:11:03 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness. I can't believe I won.

01:11:07 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Could you remember when you were a little girl listening to this radio station and winning Jonas Brothers tickets and probably screaming like crazy, right?

01:11:16 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Yes, I remember being like eight years old and watching them on TV. Also, first time long time. Hey, baby. One, two, three, four.

01:11:25 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 2:

How old are you now, Courtney?

01:11:27 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 4:

26. We love you for

01:11:30 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 2:

listening. Thanks for making this radio station part of your growing up. And you got tickets. You're going to see these guys. Jonas Brothers.

01:11:39 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Thank you guys so much. Oh, I'm so excited.

01:11:42 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Let me get the info and the date and all that stuff because there's tickets available. Ticketmaster. You got them for free. You don't have to pay for them. You're going to go see the Jonas Brothers with Marshmallow. August 28th. Comerica Park in Detroit. Congrats to you.

01:11:58 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you.

01:12:00 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 2:

Have a great time. Hold on one second. All right. More tickets tomorrow morning. Make sure that you're listening at 730 tomorrow. War of the Roses. If you think that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500 and we will bust the cheater.

01:12:16 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 5:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. Get your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:23 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Nick. oh um hi buddy how you doing man so so i heard that you think that your girlfriend is cheating

01:12:33 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 3:

with your roommate uh yes and you you guys all live together yeah uh my girlfriend and um my roommate but he lives like kind of like in the basement okay so what what is it that made

01:12:50 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 2:

you start thinking that your roommate and her were together um i don't i don't really know um

01:13:01 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 3:

so i live in like a a two-bedroom so my girlfriend and i stay in one room and then my roommate's like downstairs um but she sent me a text and i don't know if it was meant for me i mean it sounds like it's meant for me, but listen to it. It says, let me get it. Hold on a second. It says, miss you so much. Can't wait to see you tonight when I get home and I miss your bed. Why would she text me she misses my bed when it's our bed?

01:13:30 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

And you guys have been sleeping in that bed together. Yeah. Have you ever seen her texting him aside from you before?

01:13:39 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 3:

um i mean i mean we we're we are in a group a group chat i mean hopefully i don't know i hopefully she's i don't go through her phone or anything but like hopefully she's not you know i mean if my roommates should know that like it would be not cool for him and my girlfriend to text each other

01:14:01 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 1:

is there ever was there an opportunity for her to be in his bed like for her for for that to be

01:14:07 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 2:

a text. There's no, come on. What kind of opportunity? Why would she? But what I'm saying

01:14:12 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 1:

is if they're always sleeping together, how, how is she ever going to have been in his

01:14:17 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 2:

bed? Oh, I thought you meant it was like a mistake and like, Oh, I really do like his bed. So you're saying, you're saying, are you ever not around enough that they could

01:14:26 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

be banging each other? Well, I mean, she works from home. I don't. So, okay. Like I have to leave to go to work so she is home all day but she works from home okay so my roommate there are

01:14:39 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

there are times when those two guys are alone together at uh at your place it could be when

01:14:46 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 3:

i'm at work if she works from home and he like you know okay all right well here's what we're

01:14:50 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

gonna do we're gonna do a three-way call war of the roses where we call her up and him up they're not together right

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

now because if they're together right now they're uh it won't work are they together right now

01:15:05 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 2:

um i don't i don't think so i mean i think my roommate should be at work and i'm happy she should be home i mean working but like okay so why don't we do this we'll do a three-way call

01:15:17 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 3:

war of the roses and we will call them both up at the same time to see what happens when they don't think that you're on the phone listening or we're on the phone listening you're gonna have to mute your phone you're you're a little talkative and i i want and i want worry about you saying something that's going to end up blowing this remember the longer we can let them talk the more information we can get sounds good so mute your phone right now okay all right war of the roses three-way call and we're calling up nick's girlfriend and roommate

01:15:54 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 6:

hello hello hello hello hey hey

01:16:15 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, what's up? What's going on?

01:16:22 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I'm just really tired.

01:16:27 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really, huh? Eh. That'll happen sometimes.

01:16:34 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 6:

It's your fault.

01:16:36 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 5:

You kept me up too late last night. What do you mean?

01:16:42 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 7:

You know what I mean.

01:16:45 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 5:

Uh, this is, uh, so what's, uh, this isn't going to affect you at all, your day at all, huh? Is this going to be a negative effect? I'm making it work. Oh, that's good. Yeah, I'm making it work, too. I mean, I'm not, I don't feel as tired as you sound, but it definitely sounds like you need some, like, coffee or something.

01:17:19 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, I was the one doing all the work, so it makes sense that I'm more tired than you are.

01:17:25 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 5:

I can agree to that. How about next time I make it up to you, huh? I'll do all the work next time. How's that? Oh, okay. Yeah, we'll see. Do you have any plans for tonight?

01:17:46 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 6:

No, I was just planning on being at the house.

01:17:50 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, good. I am, too. Maybe we can figure something out. I can make it up to you. Yeah, how are you going to do that? I'm thinking I could make us all dinner tonight.

01:18:05 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 6:

Really? yeah i don't know if i've ever actually seen you cook

01:18:14 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 5:

oh i'm i'm a really good cook you can ask uh you can ask him uh we've uh he knows all about my

01:18:22 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 6:

cooking yeah i'm sure he'll love that if i'm just like hey how is he out of cooking he'll be like

01:18:31 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 5:

where is this coming from oh yeah i gotta probably keep it on the down low

01:18:36 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 6:

Are you going to make anything special or?

01:18:41 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. You know, I've got that. I make a really mean grilled apricot chicken. You're going to love it.

01:18:51 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 6:

That's fancy. Just a romantic dinner for three.

01:19:01 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 3:

Sure. When you plan on making dinner, Luke, are you going to make dinner? for uh just you and abby or is the third that you're talking about is going to be nick

01:19:12 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 5:

um yeah let's we should it probably makes sense to make it as two yeah um luke yeah i was actually

01:19:29 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 3:

thinking the romantic dinner for two luke can i uh can i ask is the reason why abby is so tired today because you guys were doing something with each other last night?

01:19:44 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can say that in a way. We were up all night. What were you guys doing?

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

You have no idea what's going on right now, do you?

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 4:

no i thought this was a uh like a confessional kind of thing confessional okay

01:20:08 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 1:

abby and luke this is the mojo in the morning show and nick called us to say that he wanted to know what was going on between the two of you guys and i don't know how much nick knows but it It sounds to me like you and Luke, Abby, are more than just living under the same roof.

01:20:31 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 3:

Nick called you?

01:20:34 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 1:

Nick's on the phone right now. Nick, what do you want to say? I'm like shocked.

01:20:44 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:20:45 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 1:

Like, I'm shocked. Where were you yesterday, Nick?

01:20:51 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 2:

I was at work. Like, I worked late, and then I had to go out with a co-worker.

01:20:57 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 1:

So, Nick, you were not home, and you had nothing to do with the whole, I'm tired?

01:21:07 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:21:09 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand. Like, how long has this been going on?

01:21:13 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 3:

Was she in bed? Was she in your bed when you got home?

01:21:20 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:21:24 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 1:

abby yeah abby what is going on between you and in luke like i don't understand why

01:21:31 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 3:

i i don't really want to get involved in this the problem is that you're already involved in this

01:21:37 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 1:

abby you're the reason why we're involved in this i i didn't call you so i would say that i'm not the

01:21:44 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 3:

reason that we're having this conversation um were you ever going to tell your boyfriend that you're

01:21:51 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 1:

That you're cheating on him?

01:21:58 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't. That just sounds so bad. What would you call it?

01:22:14 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you think about that and hold on one second.

01:22:16 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

ha ha busted again

01:22:21 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 2:

it's your home for war the roses mojo in the morning join the discussion now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 this is mojo in the morning

01:22:40 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Nick what are you thinking right now

01:22:47 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 2:

01:22:50 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 1:

alright I'm going to put you on hold and I'm going to let you guys and just you and Abby talk so stay right here okay okay four of the roses 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 When your roommate cheats with your girlfriend Makes for a very tough living arrangement there, poor guy Katie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning, hi

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning guys

01:23:32 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, what's going on?

01:23:34 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 4:

um this one made me a little anxious or a lot anxious listening to them talk to each other like it was a joke and cute and funny to be doing this behind nick's back um just kind of brought me back to my younger years when it kind of happened to me the same way and um i just i feel really bad for him because yeah these people both do not care about him at all when you say

01:24:00 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 1:

your younger years how young were you when this was going on um my late teens early 20s i had a really bad picker when it came to men and was it somebody that you knew that you were you trusted

01:24:13 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 4:

that cheated with them oh yeah no exact exact same situation um i i was living with a good friend i thought my roommate and um a guy i started seeing how we were together for like six months and yeah I found out they were pretty much together that whole entire time.

01:24:30 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 1:

I wonder how many people have had that where their roommate cheated with their relationship. 844-MOJO-LIVE, if you want to call us on that one. Is it because you just weren't home at the time and they had access to being there and you never really thought much of, you know?

01:24:43 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we work different shifts, and I think that's what it came down to.

01:24:49 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate your call, and I know I feel the same way, too. I feel bad for this poor guy. I do have to tell you, though, for some reason, when we do these three-way...

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

calls and the video will speak for itself when you see it on tiktok especially if it's posted this way but when the guy starts talking about his apricot chicken i almost started laughing

01:25:09 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 1:

looking at kevin we all did i thought kevin was gonna fall off his chair i want to i want to

01:25:15 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 2:

see what that apricot chicken's all about what's going on christina hi

01:25:19 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 5:

hi um that was a very interesting call to say the least yeah um when she said she doesn't want to get involved my she blew my mind because she's the main reason yeah where that's why we're here right right just because she didn't call in doesn't make it any less of a problem

01:25:40 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 2:

yeah that that their their conversation um together is going to be an awkward situation because of she doesn't seem like she wants to have any kind uh kind of conversation with nick

01:25:55 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

at all well and she also didn't want to call it cheating right yeah right um have you ever had

01:26:03 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 2:

apricot chicken grilled grilled apricot chicken no no with a little jasmine rice that makes it

01:26:10 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 1:

all good that's why we need to name this war of the roses by the way we always came in hall over what we're going to name the war of the roses on the podcast it is going to be called

01:26:17 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 4:

grilled apricot chicken what's up look for it angela hi hi you said nick was real chatty you didn't even let the roommates say exactly what they did i was like mojo let him say it

01:26:31 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 2:

let him answer the question angela might have been the longest that you've ever heard the two talking to each other how much more do you need from those guys no but you know what big mistake

01:26:41 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 4:

Like, you never move in the opposite sex in with you and a roommate. That's the biggest red flag ever. Interesting.

01:26:49 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 2:

So you say don't have, if you have a girlfriend living with you, don't ever bring another potential person in.

01:27:00 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 4:

No, uh-uh, never, ever. It never works out. I've never seen a situation where two male roommates who move in a girlfriend work out or two females who move in their male boyfriend. It never, ever works out, ever. It always will lead to something. It's a red flag.

01:27:21 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:27:22 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Especially when they're young.

01:27:24 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 2:

That's a good point. Yeah. Thank you for the call, Angela. I love you for listening.

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 4:

You're welcome. Take care of yourself. Okay, thanks. Bye-bye.

01:27:30 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 2:

Antonio. What's up, Antonio? It's War of the Roses.

01:27:33 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 3:

hey what's going on y'all yeah like the last like the last girl was saying i i'm i'm in shock that baby girl was just done like she was quiet like she didn't know how to handle it but like the last girl said at this point yeah buddy's gonna be scarred for life because now when he's in his own apartment he talks about bringing the girl over and he has a friend over like can you really

01:27:55 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 2:

trust it now and yeah it's just a messy situation yeah i i agree it's uh it's a i don't know it's Sonia, what do you think should happen?

01:28:07 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, the guy that's staying with his friend, yeah, he needs to be kicked out. All of this stuff on the front lawn. It is terrible how crappy people can be. Luke needs to go.

01:28:18 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 2:

But what about the girlfriend? She needs to go, too, then.

01:28:22 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely. It is so terrible how crappy people can be. You save a guy from being homeless, and that's what he does, right? No, both of them out of there.

01:28:30 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's going to make it very interesting to try to see if he can afford the rent. What's up, Amber? Hi, you got a story for us about romance and the roommate?

01:28:39 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so I had a commitment ceremony with my girlfriend at the time in June of 2016. And then by August, she was cheating on me with my best friend, who we all live together and work together. Oh, God, that's messy.

01:28:55 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 1:

How did you find out?

01:28:56 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 6:

So I found out from his ex-girlfriend, she had his Facebook password, and she was signed into his messenger, and she screenshotted all the messages and sent them to me from his Facebook.

01:29:11 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And so what happens after the fact? Who moves out, and how do you pay the rent, and how do you do all the stuff?

01:29:18 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so they actually stayed together and moved out and got, like, legally married a couple months later.

01:29:25 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Wow. Did you go to the wedding?

01:29:28 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Actually, it's wild because we kind of, like, made amends a couple years later, and I actually stood up in their wedding.

01:29:37 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's crazy. That is nuts.

01:29:40 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's messed up. You just introduced him.

01:29:43 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Wow. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:29:46 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, thanks, guys.

01:29:47 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

Lydia says that their conversation has ended, so those two are not talking right now. So we'll have to try to get an update from Nick on what's going to happen in this relationship and what's going to happen with your room. But she's been under the weather the last few days. Feel better, Megan. Be back, though, hopefully tomorrow. Oh, it's not Megan Meek. It's Megan Sick. Megan Sick. it's april fool's day it's april fool's day uh don't fall for a fool's day thing uh we're catching crap from people that say that uh we're not working hard enough what yeah i wonder what they do i don't know they're all upset with us that we're not working hard enough we didn't do an april fool's day joke i actually liked i liked uh i don't know if uh they did it let me see here

01:32:16 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

April Fools is not for us adults. Let the kids have their day.

01:32:21 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

I love this. My son's show did a funny one. They already have a funny one going. Did they do one? They did. The city of Tampa is banning Easter egg decorating this year because of the high prices of Easter eggs. So they're telling the parents that they have to decorate potatoes instead of Easter eggs. And they actually had the mayor on to make the proclamation of the thing. So I thought it was a cute one. That's a good one.

01:32:47 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 2:

The mirror one?

01:32:47 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 1:

That's dope. So, but at some point, at what age do you age out of it? We discussed this this morning earlier on the show. Like we were talking about at some age, like if somebody does an April Fool's Day joke on you, then you're like, okay, and these people are dumb. The people that fake divorce, you know, hey, I want to serve you with papers. I've seen people do it or breaking up in a relationship. That is not funny. Has anybody ever had that happen to them on April Fool's Day where somebody broke up on April Fool's Day, A, for the purpose of breaking up or to do it as an April Fool's Day joke? Either way, it's a bad day to do it. Like, faking a heart attack on April Fool's Day is not a good idea, right?

01:33:35 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 2:

I think the relationship thing, too. Like, when do you say April Fool's? Do you wait until tomorrow? Like, April 2nd? Do you allow it to go the full day?

01:33:44 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 1:

No, you do that, that's cruel and unusual.

01:33:46 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 2:

Because that's the type of person I am. Like, if we're going to play it out, let's play it out. I get into character.

01:33:52 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 1:

You are not a smart man sometimes. I've never done it. Sometimes you have the most. Like yesterday, I was looking at the topic that Shannon did yesterday, and your quote that you had at the end of it was so eloquent, and people all loved it. It trended yesterday on our Instagram. And then you go and you say something like that.

01:34:12 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 2:

The best of both worlds. I might think about this, to be honest with you. Do an April Fool's joke in here. Like, if you did it on Josiah, your son. Okay, that's cute. That's funny. Yeah. But don't. Like, I don't know. I thought about just saying, like, I'm not coming today, y'all. I thought about texting that yesterday, but I'm not coming tomorrow.

01:34:35 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

If I get pulled over by the police today, I'm going to say, this is April Fool's. I'm not falling for this whole thing. I wasn't really skinny. I ain't doing that. Yeah. Come on now. I'm going to go into, you know what, I'm going to try this day. Let me go into a bank today. I'm going to a bank and say, give me all your money. April Fool's. Stick them up. Go ahead. That would be hilarious. You know what, you do stuff like that, you deserve to have.

01:35:00 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 2:

your ass in jail i've never uh never in my life ever rooted for somebody to uh to actually be put into jail except for you if you do something stupid like that i don't think i was like amazingly

01:35:11 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 3:

creative as a kid like i used to watch these movies and i don't know what the movies were but you used to look at television there used to be like amazing pranks and you would want to do

01:35:19 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 1:

that i've never been a part of a prank that was that good my kids are so good with their pranks

01:35:26 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 2:

This radio show has done some of the best phone scams in the world, some of the best street scams in the world. Like, we've done a lot of good stuff. I'm going to tell you something right now. At some point, you age out of this. At some point, you sit there and you go, I'm not going to do it. How about this texter here? Texter who said that they faked a pregnancy. They faked a pregnancy. Call that texter up. That's a good one. I want that person on the air because that's what happened to them afterwards.

01:35:52 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 3:

Here we go.

01:35:52 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 2:

Not so great. Taylor, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:35:55 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 6:

hi how are you good what's going on hi good um i actually when i was 19 i was dating a guy who broke up with me on april fool's day i ended up going to my best friend's house to you know cry it out she ended up uh planning a girl's night for me later that day he said uh get ready we're going to dinner and a movie just kidding april fools i still love you i said absolutely not My heart is not a game, and that's where I ended our relationship.

01:36:24 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 3:

What? Wow. How long were you all together before that? Two years. Come on now, and you just broke it up? You broke it off like that? Because the guy's an idiot. It was an April Fool's joke. He's a dumbass, Cav.

01:36:38 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 6:

You let it go all day long. There was no way I was coming back from that. What?

01:36:44 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Cav, I don't like that. I don't put two years in, and I can't have a little joke one. I had the dinner and the movie set up later. It's April Fool's. Give me some grace. You know what? No, I'm not giving you grace. She didn't want to be with him anyway. That's what that is. You don't just break up with somebody after two years.

01:36:59 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 2:

That is a joke. No, that's stupid.

01:37:01 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 6:

So why does he get to play with my heart on April Fool's like that? It's a joke. Cry all day long, you know?

01:37:07 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Guy's an idiot. You deserve to be broken up on him.

01:37:10 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 3:

It's April Fool's Day. Believe nobody. Just like any other day.

01:37:15 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 1:

Quit fooling around. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:37:18 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jennifer? How you doing?

01:37:21 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 5:

Good. I texted in, and I pulled a prank on April 1st when I was pregnant.

01:37:31 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 2:

Say that again. Wait, wait. Hold on. Say that again. You told the prank on April 1st, 2010. Okay.

01:37:39 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 5:

And I had my mom going. I faked a pregnancy. I had my boyfriend going. I had my friend who was pregnant take a pregnancy test for me so that it was positive. Later that year, I found out I was pregnant, and my due date was April 1st. Oh, wow.

01:38:02 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

01:38:03 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 5:

That is so so bad.

01:38:04 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 2:

I would have gone through the entire pregnancy worried that that baby was not going to come out with, like, five arms.

01:38:09 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 3:

Bruh.

01:38:10 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 2:

I would have been so worried.

01:38:11 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 5:

He's definitely a prankster. I bet. So it's good.

01:38:15 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 2:

Yes. That's the thing. tomorrow. It's like in school. Well, his birthday's tomorrow. It's April 1st. I thought you said he was born on April 1st. His due date was April 1st. Because I will tell you this, I will not kill my grandma off just to get out of a school test or something like that because God forbid grandma dies or something. Yeah. Just like April Fool's Day. The best work in school April Fool's prank

01:38:41 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 1:

is pretending you want to be there. This is Mojo in the Morning. I'm really hoping Wes doesn't do anything because he is that. Remember the one year he put my car keys in the big tub of slime and I couldn't get them out in the morning? Wait till you get home.

01:38:55 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Did I say? I said,

01:38:56 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 1:

please do, like last night before we went to bed, please really just don't.

01:39:00 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 2:

Did you see the Instagram reels I sent you on Instagram? Yes.

01:39:04 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 1:

Of reasons why you don't scare your wife, which he loves to do every day of the year. This guy was

01:39:11 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 2:

putting a ball bin or something like that and pretending like he got electric She was on a ladder. And he pretended he got electrocuted or shocked. She got so freaked out that she ended up punching the guy and he fell off the thing. What's up, Tiffany? Hi.

01:39:24 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just listening to it, and your guys' April Fool's jokes. Well, my daughter is about to be four now, but when I was pregnant with her, me and my boyfriend weren't together, but we got back together when we found out I was pregnant, but he thought it'd be funny on April Fool's to tell me he didn't think it was his kid. and i didn't know it's april fool's day and i was heavily pregnant so yeah it didn't turn out well

01:39:49 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 1:

for a while but wouldn't you know if it wasn't his kid uh well we weren't together when we got

01:39:55 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 4:

pregnant like we were taking a break so he was gonna be funny to joke like that so there were

01:40:00 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 3:

So there was potential.

01:40:01 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 4:

She was with another guy.

01:40:02 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, no. She looks like his mini twin. Like, they look identical. So, yeah. You have been the one to me.

01:40:09 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 5:

He was just using April Fool's as a joke.

01:40:12 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 4:

No, but the doubt in his head, though, you know. They're putting the doubt out there.

01:40:16 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 3:

You are not the one.

01:40:19 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 4:

On April Fool's Day, say whatever mean thing you wanted to say. Then pretend it was a joke.

01:40:24 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

April Fool's. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:40:28 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 4:

That's what people are doing. They're dummies. I like that. Jamie, what's up? It's Mojo on the Morning High. We hate this day. We hate April Fool's Day.

01:40:35 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 6:

No, I love it. I'm 48 years old, and I still like to play the pranks. I've got a box of donuts in my car here, but there's not really donuts in the box. It's filled with vegetables. That is cruel. Are you serious? Yuck.

01:40:47 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 4:

You are a wacky jokester.

01:40:49 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 1:

You don't joke about donuts.

01:40:51 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Nope.

01:40:52 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 1:

Joke about divorces. Do not joke about donuts.

01:40:55 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Nope.

01:40:57 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 6:

The guys are going to love me.

01:40:58 - 01:41:00 | Speaker 4:

What kind of work do you do? What do you do for a living?

01:41:01 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 6:

We make snow plows.

01:41:03 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 4:

You do? Oh. Okay.

01:41:04 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:41:05 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 4:

The guys that work at the snow plow place, get ready. The box of vegetables is coming. Thank you. Bye. We'll talk to you later. See you. April Fool. You're a fully functioning person with your s*** together. April Fool's.

01:41:21 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:41:23 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 4:

That's a good one. Stop talking. All right. Mojo in the Morning show. Oh, real quick, any word on if the girl that you left in your bed this morning, Kevin, who you've only known for a couple of weeks, has robbed you completely blind yet?

01:41:39 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 5:

No, I FaceTimed her a little over half an hour ago. She was still in the bed.

01:41:45 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 4:

She's still in the bed.

01:41:46 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 5:

I got a very comfortable bed, so she's relaxed.

01:41:48 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 4:

Wait, doesn't she have to be at work right now?

01:41:50 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she had to be at eight, but she said she was just going in late. Wow. Do you think she's still going to be there when you get back?

01:41:57 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, three men in a truck or two men in a truck. How many guys will take to move out of Kevin's place?

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 5:

Two TVs.

01:42:09 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 4:

This guy, by the way, if you missed that earlier, Kevin was talking about how he met this girl a few weeks ago, and she's now at his place, and she let him stay the night at his place. And Shannon and I, both the responsible ones here, are like, buddy, you're a fool. What are you doing? But all the listeners were like, oh, you go, Kev. So sweet.

01:42:29 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 5:

It's not the smartest thing I've done, but I'm leading with my heart.

01:42:33 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 3:

What if she starts leaving stuff after today at your apartment? I got her some house shoes. They'll be here Friday.

01:42:38 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:42:39 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 5:

Did you leave? I just want her to be comfortable.

01:42:42 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I hope she pulls the pregnancy April Fool's joke on you.

01:42:45 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:42:46 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 4:

My God. I don't know. I think that's crazy. Why?

01:42:53 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 5:

Can't I just leave people at your house?

01:42:55 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 4:

First off, I would more trust, honestly, a guy repairing something at my house than I would trust a girl I met three weeks ago. I didn't meet her on Craigslist. For a piece of tail.

01:43:05 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 2:

How did you meet her?

01:43:06 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 5:

So sometimes I slide up on my stories just to kind of see who's, yeah. And I saw her picture, her icon. I was like, she's a listener of the show, huh? Maybe. I DM'd her. I'm like, I don't know why I want this to sound crazy, but like, how do we know each other? She's like, that's not crazy. See, we met one time way back in passing with some friends, and that's where it kind of started.

01:43:27 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God.

01:43:29 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

01:43:31 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 1:

That's cute.

01:43:32 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 4:

All right, real quick.

01:43:33 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 5:

I agree, Shannon.

01:43:35 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 4:

Kevin wants to, Kevin, we want to get into a topic here right now with Kevin. Kissing. Do you keep eyes open or eyes closed?

01:43:44 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, is it weird if I'm kissing somebody and have my eyes open? No, I'm not saying, I'm not staring at you. But I will say, I'm not going to sit up here and lie and say that I'm always eyes closed when I'm kissing. Now, I don't want to sound, you know, I do want to be humble, but I'm a very good kisser, guys. And there are moments where the kissing becomes extremely passionate. And there have been times where the eyelids have opened, they've unlocked, and you kind of just want to see maybe if the other person is as passionate or involved as you are.

01:44:18 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 4:

But what happens if you open your eyes to go look and see that, and she's looking right at you, too, and you go, oh, Jesus.

01:44:24 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 2:

I play that game with, like, have you ever played one, two, three, ow, ow, and you open your eyes. That's what that reminds me of. I don't know. It's just, like, a dumb game, but I would feel super creeped out if I just happened to, like, open my eyes for two seconds.

01:44:39 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:44:40 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 2:

And Wes was just wide-eyed staring back at me.

01:44:43 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Now, that did happen, I think, last week. this is the first time i've ever been kissing a woman and when i opened my eyes she was looking at me and it did feel a bit weird but at the same time i'm like it can't be that weird because my eyes had to be open in order to see her eyes was open for sure yeah okay

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 3:

Is it creepy if the person that you're kissing opens their eyes? And who kisses with their eyes open?

01:45:06 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 5:

You know what I feel? Now that I'm thinking about this, if we're just kissing, I will kiss with my eyes closed. But I feel like during sex, sometimes I keep my eyes open.

01:45:16 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 3:

Baking cookies?

01:45:18 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 5:

Like kissing during sex.

01:45:21 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 3:

During baking cookies.

01:45:22 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 5:

It's 820. Your kids should be at school. Go to school.

01:45:27 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 3:

What are the kids, by the way? Every kid in their car right now just opened their eyes.

01:45:34 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

Did the lady on the radio just say that? So if you're just doing pecs, then that isn't enough excitement for the eyes to be open. It's not a passionate enough experience. Unless the hands are moving and it's happening way beyond just the little...

01:45:53 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea thinks that when I keep my eyes closed and do that, I've watched too much adult movies.

01:46:00 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, and you're imagining somebody else? No. Or you're just mimicking?

01:46:03 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 3:

Because I'm trying to like, or maybe old time soap operas when like my mom used to make me stay home with her.

01:46:07 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 5:

So are you eyes open?

01:46:09 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 3:

So I actually keep my eyes closed because I'm sitting there, I'm getting into it. Like I do. I don't open my eyes. Occasionally though, I've done what Kevin's done and I wanted to see if she's actually enjoying it. And at one point I actually looked at her and she was typing, she was texting. No, I'm just kidding. No. So I've looked at her before in the eyes. I've looked at Chelsea when we're kissing and she'll go, you are so weird. Like she'll like actually think it's weird that I will open my eyes.

01:46:34 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:46:35 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 3:

I like it. 844 Mojo live text 95500. We'll grab calls in a second. First though, Kyle, what's up?

01:46:42 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it seems like I was late to the party, but, uh, Kev was, he was okay with that, that guy breaking up with his girlfriend for over two years on an April fools. I just was saying that that girl in his house should rob him right now. And just April Fool's. Wouldn't that be great? He comes home to an empty apartment. Yeah. That would be the greatest.

01:47:04 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 5:

You came home and there was nothing.

01:47:06 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 3:

Kyle, I'm not going to lie to you. I don't ever wish bad upon anybody on the show because I love everybody on the show. But, Kevin, I want to see him rob today. No, you don't. I really do. Don't put that in the air. Like, I want him. April Fool's, Kevin. I want him. It's like, you know. Take it back, Kyle. So I want to know that this girl, by the way, Kevin, I guarantee you never did a background check on her. I want to see that this girl is notoriously like steals from guys or something like that. A little kleptomania. And Kevin comes home and has nothing. That would be the greatest part of my life today.

01:47:40 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 1:

That would be so funny.

01:47:41 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call, bud.

01:47:42 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 4:

That would not be funny. No problem.

01:47:43 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate you. So, okay, wait. Eyes closed or eyes open? Real quick, five calls says it all. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I'm looking at a text right now. All the texts are coming in. Okay, eyes open. I got to see what I'm looking at. Eyes closed. It's creepy to keep your eyes open while you're kissing. Close, close, close, open. These are all text messages that are coming in right now. 810 says closed. It was 512 says open. 619 sends a half close with a weird, like kind of like the blinking weird face emoji.

01:48:31 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 4:

Like I wonder, are there do's and don'ts when kissing?

01:48:34 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:48:34 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 4:

And his eyes open one of those like don'ts.

01:48:36 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 3:

Tori, what's up?

01:48:38 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning, you guys. How are you doing? Good.

01:48:41 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? It's Mojo on the line.

01:48:43 - 01:48:43 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:48:44 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, I sent in a message and I said, thanks a lot, Shannon. and I have some explaining to do. We're running late this morning. Oh, I'm so sorry. You're something.

01:48:53 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. We will never run late again. Real quick. No, it is okay.

01:48:57 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm so sorry.

01:48:58 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, Tori, they can't hear us because you got the radio down. Open or closed for you?

01:49:05 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry?

01:49:06 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 3:

Open or closed for you when you're kissing on their dad or whoever?

01:49:10 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 2:

Definitely closed. Open is crazy.

01:49:12 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What would you do if he kept his eyes open and was staring at you the whole time, would you think that he was, like, doing weird stuff?

01:49:20 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 5:

I think I'm being assessed. Like, do I need to go get my eyebrows? I would definitely think he's a killer. Plucked. Why is it closed? Yes.

01:49:27 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 3:

I agree.

01:49:28 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 4:

Not staring the whole time. Not just eyes open like, ugh.

01:49:32 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Sam? It's Mojo in the morning. Open or closed?

01:49:36 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 2:

So, honestly, if it's during the day, eyes open, if it's just, like, one time, like, kiss goodbye or whatever, or good morning. But if you're making out or getting ready to bake some cookies, it's got to be closed. If the lights are off, you can't see anything.

01:49:52 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 3:

That's interesting. So the time of day that the kiss is happening plays a part for you.

01:49:59 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:50:00 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Amen. That's very interesting. I never thought about that, but that actually is kind of true. Like if it's nighttime, you don't need to have your eyes open. You can't see anything anyway. Right? Exactly. It ain't that dark. Yeah. That's even scarier to me.

01:50:13 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 7:

In the dark, I can see your eyes wide open looking at me. Yeah. I don't know. I don't

01:50:18 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

like that. I don't know. I like that. I like that call. Man, look at all these open, open, open. A lot of opens. I can't believe how many opens. Hey, Mojo in the morning. Hello.

01:50:32 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 1:

I just wanted to say I kiss with my eyes closed. You do? But sometimes I'll sneak peek.

01:50:40 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 3:

There we go. So it's never that you're opening your eyes because of anything other than you want to know what's going on. You want to sneak a peek to see if she's enjoying it probably, right? Yeah. I think that's the case, but it's not a permanent thing. Yeah, no, we're not doing that. That's good. What's your name and where you're from? um my name is thomas i'm from toledo ohio thank you thomas from toledo we've got your vote in uh tiffany hi what's going on hi good morning good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show what's up not much just dropped off the ghetto oh thank goodness the kids are out of the car shannon now you can say now you can tell us what position you were in uh what's going on not much i definitely closed all right and what do you think about guys that keep their eyes open a little creepy so would you ever break up with a guy that had his eyes open while you

01:51:38 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 5:

guys were kissing i don't think it's breakup worthy but yeah definitely gonna have a talk

01:51:45 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 3:

about it let me ask you a question what if the guy kept his eyes open but he had a lazy eye

01:51:52 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 4:

i still don't think it'd be a deal breaker by the way if he's got a lazy eye he better

01:51:59 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

keep those things close honestly little forest whitaker yeah what's up taylor what's over there

01:52:05 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 5:

what's going on hey good morning um so i am not like a wide open person but sometimes you just open just a little bit just to see their their lips and their mouth move sometimes that can be

01:52:18 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 3:

really attractive do you think nothing weird do you think it's romantic if the guy has his eyes open, and he's smiling while he's kissing you because he is looking at you.

01:52:30 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 5:

Smiling? Yeah. Well, sometimes you can smile, and then when you're both smiling, you're both open, and it kind of just it's a special moment right there, you know?

01:52:38 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 8:

What if you open your eyes just to take a peek, and you realize the face they're making is horribly ugly, and you're so turned off for something? You gotta close them. Yeah.

01:52:48 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Shut up. Yeah, just real quick. Back to the close.

01:52:51 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. I appreciate you. 01:53:12 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 4:

well i'm just wondering if he's really doing a good job does he need to see her to know

01:53:18 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 2:

if you're really doing a good job do you have to ask certain questions when you're baking cookies

01:53:27 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 3:

yes no but see here's the thing you can feel it can't you feel like sometimes sometimes they say they say that you gotta that sometimes feeling the ball makes you feel in sport in in sports no it's true in sport have you ever heard that a coach says you gotta feel the ball It's like kissing

01:53:48 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 4:

You're feeling okay I know If you're kissing me right My body's moving a certain way And there shouldn't be a question

01:53:55 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 2:

There you go No, it's not so much Sometimes you just want to see the other person enjoying it

01:54:00 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 3:

No, you got to feel it What's going on, Terrence? Where are you from, Terrence? It's probably Michigan We got Detroit

01:54:07 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 7:

Hey, there you are

01:54:08 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Terrence from Detroit What's going on, Terrence?

01:54:10 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 6:

I am a terrible kisser So I do not want to see her face because I do not want to be disappointed that I'm trying to be intimate, and she's not because my kissing is awful.

01:54:28 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Matter of fact, I like to wear blindfolds. My thing is, my hope is that I don't ever see what her reaction is to it because in my head, she's enjoying it. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Take care of yourself. Yep. All right. Hold on. Ashley, where are you from, Ashley?

01:54:50 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm from Rochester.

01:54:52 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

So far, Grand Rapids hasn't checked in yet. We need to get a Grand Rapids call in here. Ashley, what's up? So I'm with...

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 1:

Pev on this one a little bit. Open.

01:55:02 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 4:

Eyes open.

01:55:03 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 1:

Wide eyes. But, you know, sometimes you got to sneak a peek and see what's going on and make sure that the other person's into it. And the other person's still hot. Make sure that the beard on it.

01:55:14 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 4:

You want to make sure they're still alive. Feel for a pulse, too. Veronica, we finally got a Grand Rapids caller. What's up, Veronica? Hello.

01:55:26 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:55:27 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 4:

Open or closed?

01:55:28 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 1:

I think I'd like preferably closed, but I'm going to lie, I'd like to see if his eyes are closed, too. I want to see the little big beak. There we go.

01:55:39 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so that's your vote, and you're staying with it right there.

01:55:45 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 5:

I'll stay with it.

01:55:46 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 4:

You're kind of a little wishy-washy with this whole thing. When's the last time you had a great make-out session? When was it?

01:55:54 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 1:

Yesterday. Was it? There you go.

01:55:56 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 4:

And do you remember open or closed?

01:56:00 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

They were probably closed.

01:56:01 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 4:

They were? Okay. See that? You know what? I like that our listeners are getting some good kissing going on. That's nice to know that, you know?

01:56:09 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Always good. Always good.

01:56:11 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 4:

No dry spells here. All right. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate you.

01:56:15 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:56:16 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 4:

All right. Now I'm going to go check out the ring camera thing that Kev set up just to see if the girl is still there.

01:56:26 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 5:

It's downstairs. Oh, it just said it's motion.

01:56:30 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 4:

What's she doing?

01:56:31 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the truck pulled up. There she goes.

01:56:34 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 4:

This girl, by the way, is never going to leave.

01:56:37 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

Does she know you're watching her?

01:56:38 - 01:56:38 | Unknown:

No.

01:56:39 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 4:

Does she know we are watching her? What just happened? She's not there.

01:56:41 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 5:

Now she's not there.

01:56:42 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 4:

Why is it that you've not done a deep dive at all to find out what she's all about?

01:56:45 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I've dived deep. I see. I'm just thinking that. I can't see anything. She's not in there right now.

01:56:52 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 4:

She's not going to. i don't know what if we find out that she's got a the reason she stayed overnight was because she's got a husband out in the suburbs or something it's none of my business what do

01:57:03 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 5:

what if you see some dude walking that's the reason why i got pointed at the front door we are creeps that we are watching this poor girl on a ring camera this is what ring cameras are for

01:57:14 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 4:

01:57:22 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is she leaving?

01:57:23 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Goodbye, honey. Here, put the volume on.

01:57:25 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no.

01:57:26 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

Put the volume on. No, I don't want her to know. She doesn't know there's a camera there, does she?

01:57:30 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 5:

Goodbye, strange lady leaving cow's pad. She don't know, and I don't want her to know.

01:57:34 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 4:

All right. Until she listens to the podcast later. And hears us talking.

01:57:39 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 5:

01:58:24 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 3:

Seattle 9-6.

01:58:25 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

I love it. All right. Shannon, what's going on in the dirty?

01:58:28 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 3:

This whole Morgan Wallen walking off the SNL stage before the credits started rolling this past weekend, people are still talking about it and trying to get to the bottom of why. Why was he so rude in doing that? Well, over on TikTok, one Morgan Wallen fan shared some screenshots of somebody who was actually at Saturday night taping. And this fan has a theory.

01:58:52 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 2:

This is a public comment, though, on a video of Morgan performing last night. But they said, I was there last night. Lauren snubbed him, which is the executive producer. Lauren Michaels. Mikey walked to the stage at the end and Lauren hugged her. Then when Morgan came to the stage, Lauren turned his back and walked away. It was an obvious and purposeful move. Also, the cast couldn't be further back on the stage if they tried. Apparently, it's a thing they do when they don't like the guest.

01:59:15 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So two things. Lorne Michaels snubbed him, gave Mikey Madison, the host, a hug, but didn't do anything for Morgan Wallen. And I guess this is a thing with the cast, that if they don't like who the host or musical guest is, they all crowd to the back of the stage. I didn't really notice that. But another fan who claims they were there says Morgan walked out to the audience to meet a group of his fans that was sitting there, including a sick child. and gave this sick child like a bracelet or something. So there was that as well.

01:59:46 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

And that would be understandable. Hopefully the cast members will come out and dispel that rumor. I always find it interesting, you know, there are some of these cast members that don't like some of the stars that are on there because they're controversy.

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 3:

But the show sure does love to use that or fame to be able to get ratings. Talk about it. Yeah.

02:00:06 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 2:

Actress Sydney Sweeney and her now not-fiancé, Jonathan DeVino, have actually been separated since January. She was in the dirty yesterday because fans spotted her over the weekend in Dallas, Texas at Glenn Powell's sister's wedding rehearsal dinner. I still think they are hooking up. But they were last photographed. Her and her not-fiancé were photographed together at the very beginning of January. and nothing since and a source telling me they broke things off because she just didn't feel right about it she is not ready to settle down they only lasted this long because it was so hard for her to finally admit to him that she wanted to break off their relationship a quick update on this story a new mexico judge has ruled that police body cam footage and photographs of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa's dead bodies shall remain out of the public eye. However, their autopsy reports and images of their home and animals will be released to the public. Why do people need to see this? Why are people so curious about this? I have no idea.

02:01:11 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 3:

See, I still want to see it. I want to know what a mummified body looks like.

02:01:15 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're not going to see it. You're not going to see it. No? No. Okay. You'll see the home. You'll see the dead dog. Oh, man. And I'm going to end on some very happy news about somebody that you probably know. He and his gorgeous wife, Melissa, are listeners of this radio program. Full House star and our local celebrity, Dave Coulier, cancer free. He announced back in November, if you remember, that he had been diagnosed with stage three non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which is a form of blood cancer. But his friend and Full House co-star, Candice Cameron Bure, celebrated his new health milestone on Instagram yesterday, writing, Dave is cancer-free. Join me in celebrating this amazing news.

02:01:59 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 3:

That's great news. That is incredible. Hey.

The boyfriend who found out that his roommate was cheating with his girlfriend. Don't go anywhere.

02:03:49 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 4:

He's cheating on you?

02:03:51 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 1:

Shocker. Oh, I listen to the morning show because I like War of the Roses.

02:03:54 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 4:

Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 940 on Mojo in the Morning. Scandalism. Wow.

02:04:01 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 3:

02:04:41 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 1:

02:04:43 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 3:

I know it sounds like. They're leather.

02:04:45 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 1:

They're laser cut. So you play that nerd drop a lot? This is the moment. This is not nerdy.

02:04:49 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 3:

This is functionality.

02:04:51 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 1:

My WeatherTech. My winter mats.

02:04:53 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Says the man who has the dirtiest car out of all of us. I do. My car is filthy. It's like literally

02:05:00 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 2:

I, you know, go take, you took it over to go get fixed over by the guys over at Zot and Jeff Schneider over at Zot Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram says to me, he goes, I don't know if I'd ever put this guy in one of our loaner cars. He would destroy the thing. Oh, y'all chatting? I did. I was chatting with him. Oh, okay. All right. So let me get back to Tony for a second here. So we're talking about this and he says, yeah, I just bought this. And I go, where'd you buy it? And he, you know, I think in Amazon. He goes, I was on eBay. And I'm like, oh, okay. And then he told me that he bought another thing he could buy on eBay. And as I said, another one, he goes and buys it on eBay. And I kind of give him a weird look. He goes, why are you giving me weird looks every time I say that I bought it on eBay? And I said, I don't know. And then he goes, what? And I go, I've never been on eBay before. He found it so surprising and so shocking that I have never, ever bought anything or been on to even search eBay.

02:05:52 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Are you kidding?

02:05:53 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 2:

Ever in my life. No, I never do it. And I'm going to tell you that I have zero interest in doing it.

02:06:00 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 1:

Even like all the sports stuff you collect or like you collect, you love old radio microphones and stuff. You don't go on there for that?

02:06:06 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't buy any of that stuff on eBay or buy any of that there because I'm just, first off, I've never been, I don't know why I don't. I have no explanation. Maybe I've often thought that I don't want to have to meet somebody in a parking lot or something like that. It's like a Facebook market. It's all shit. I know. But I never did. And so Tony says, this would be a good topic. You should bring this up. Like things that other people have done that nobody else has done. And I said to him, I go, Tony, I don't think that that's shocking. I think it'd be shocking if I said, I've never been a person that ordered on Amazon. Like, I think that would be more shocking than the eBay thing. Because I think Amazon is more universal than that.

02:06:42 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, I have a girlfriend who has never ordered on Amazon. And so if she needs something, she just asks, she sends me a link and asks me to order it. I don't know, actually. She's never ordered. I never asked her. I just order for her, and she Venmo's me.

02:06:56 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

Did you know she's never, ever ordered ever on it?

02:06:59 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 1:

She does not even have an Amazon account.

02:07:00 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Sometimes people don't have a current account because they, I don't know, something happened to them. No, I should. I just do as I'm told. So we're having this conversation, and he thinks this is a good topic, and I'll be honest with you. I think the topic's kind of mediocre. But with that said, I did say to him, I go, it would be interesting when I have talked to grown adults and grown adults will tell me that they never have had their driver's license. And I'm like, oh, okay, that seems kind of weird to me like that. Or somebody that says that they've never been in a Walmart. You know what I mean? Like, I've never been in a Walmart. Like, if you say that to me, I'm going, okay, you might be bougie. Who knows? maybe you only shop at you know the nice stores i think that i i met somebody recently who has

02:07:50 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 1:

never been on an airplane and it wasn't because they're they were fearful um and it wasn't like they couldn't afford a plane ticket they just everywhere that they've ever gone they've driven so they've never even been to an airport aside from actually i don't even think i asked him if he had ever picked anybody up but had never been on an airplane and was my age that would not

02:08:12 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 2:

That would not surprise me only because I know people, and actually some of them are big family friends of ours, that have never traveled outside of the state.

02:08:25 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 1:

For sure.

02:08:25 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 2:

So they've only been in the state.

02:08:27 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

And that's what he said. Everywhere I've ever gone, we've just driven.

02:08:30 - 02:08:30 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:08:31 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is there anybody that's never shopped on Amazon or is there somebody like me that has never been on eBay or never, you know, even looked at eBay?

02:08:43 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 1:

You got to get on eBay. Do you know my dad's on eBay every single day? Is he? Every single day. He sells. He buys. He is addicted to eBay. Yeah.

02:08:52 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 2:

I always feel like the people like Tony, and I'm going to insult your dad too. I always feel like that when they're doing that stuff, that it becomes a game for them. It is a game for them. What's wrong with that?

02:09:06 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 1:

That's not an insult. He finds stuff in-

02:09:08 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 2:

Is your dad kind of a semi-hoarder like Tony is?

02:09:10 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, 100%.

02:09:11 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Is he?

02:09:11 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

But he lives in an older home in Allen Park. And when he moved in, he found all of this crazy stuff in this space above the garage. And he ended up making so much money from just throwing it on eBay to see what it would do. Yeah. And so he loves eBay. He buys vintage radios, vintage clocks. My stepmom hates all of this, but he just.

02:09:34 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny about, you know, Tony and stuff is Lydia saw him for the first time with a pair of shorts and a baseball hat on and she saw him and she said that she didn't never saw Tony as that because Tony's like a robot to her.

02:09:51 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 1:

He does look like a robot when he's in real people clothes.

02:09:54 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:09:55 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Tony wearing shorts is weird to me. Tony wears jeans and a button down

02:09:58 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

yeah you know what kind of shorts

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 1:

he wears, too, don't you? What? Cargo. No, he doesn't. He's got the cargo. That may say. No, no, no. He's got cargo. Oh, no.

02:10:06 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 2:

What? What's wrong with cargo? You got a place to put all your keys. You don't like cargo?

02:10:09 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 1:

You ever see how many keys he has? No. He's cooler than that. A little bit cooler than that. Cargos aren't cool?

02:10:15 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Cargos are in. Cargos are in. They're back. Take it from Tony. What's going on, Chris?

02:10:22 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Chris, here you go. What's going on? What's up, Chris? Oh, that's a whole lot of nada. I have not bought anything off of the internet, period. Really? Hey, listen, I've gone since 2014 without the internet. I don't have a computer.

02:10:40 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow. See, now that's more shocking to me that you have no computer and you've never been on the internet.

02:10:44 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay, do you pay for everything cash?

02:10:49 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 6:

No, no. I have a, well, I mean, kind of. I mean, it's my ATM debit card. Yeah.

02:10:53 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Tony, what's your reason? Why don't internet, what's the reason?

02:10:59 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 6:

Well, I have my phone. I was homeless. I went homeless in 2014. I was homeless for a year and a half. So all I had at the time was my phone, so I learned to live with it. And then I just never found a reason to get it until, well, now everyone's getting on me because I own a record label and I do music. So they're like, how do you do that without the music?

02:11:18 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you must never have streamed. I mean, that's the nature of music now.

02:11:24 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 6:

I do everything off of my phone, everything. I mean, your phone's basically a computer now, you know?

02:11:28 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, I kind of get it. But that is interesting, though, that you've never been on the Internet. There's only so much you can probably post or not post from your phone, though. Hector, what's up, Hector?

02:11:42 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how's it going? Yeah, I'm 45. I've never flown. Never had a need to.

02:11:47 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah. What's the furthest that you've ever traveled or, like, driven to get somewhere?

02:11:52 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm a commercial driver, so I've driven all up and down the East Coast, from Michigan to Florida and everything East. But in 2015, I was actually thrown 70 feet from a truck, so that's extended my plane.

02:12:10 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Interesting perspective on that. Well, I'm glad that you're alive to tell us about it. Peggy, what's up, Peggy?

02:12:20 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:12:21 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:12:22 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Peggy. Hi, Peggy. What's going on? I have never gone on eBay. I have never gone on a computer. I don't even know how to turn on a computer. Really? I have no interest in that because I like to go to the store and try on stuff, see stuff. Sure. And I just don't do any of that.

02:12:42 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 2:

Peggy, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

02:12:46 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm 69. I'll be 70. 69. Really? so you're a great number and my daughter says mom you're about 10 years behind times and it's like you know what i don't want to work for you i don't want to have to do any of that peggy i'm

02:13:03 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 2:

kind of with you i'm kind of with you in the idea that i do like to touch feel and you know see stuff um so sometimes buying it on on you know line kind of makes it a little bit difficult for that but it seems like every store is going away from that so is it harder for you to find places

02:13:21 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 4:

to go to well my favorite store is cj math so i shop there or marshall's do you get the max for

02:13:28 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 2:

the minimum i'm sorry they're tagline anymore do you get the max for the minimum what is the tagline now what what are you going to do when you find out that we're going to add that to the list of stores that are going to get uh you know closed down oh i'd be lost would you really have to find

02:13:46 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 4:

the new one oh yeah because see i used to go every i'd go probably five days a week to um fast and beyond when they went out of business yeah and um oh they knew me by name because i always go in there and i'm lost i won't they have it online now i guess but no you know who you got

02:14:05 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 2:

to blame for all these stories going out of business a guy by the name of jeff bezos We'll blame that guy. That bastard. Yeah. We love you, Peggy. No.

02:14:16 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 3:

Love you, too. I listen to you every day. God bless you. Thank you.

02:14:20 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate it. What time will you...

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 3:

And Megan, you look excellent.

02:14:24 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Megan's beautiful.

02:14:24 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 3:

Megan looks great. Oh, poor Megan is so sick today.

02:14:27 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's out sick right now, so we'll share that with her. All right. Take care. Take care of yourself. She and my sister, Pat, need to be friends.

02:14:37 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 1:

I was just going to say she sounds like Aunt Pat. Peggy and Pat. All right.

02:14:41 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 2:

I know. Somebody just said, Mojo, don't go on eBay. I got scammed out of $1,000 on eBay.

02:14:49 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 1:

I've never been. The only thing I've purchased from eBay are, like, iron-on patches. Do you like Poshmark? Are you Poshmark? I've never been on Poshmark.

02:14:56 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 2:

I've never been on eBay, and then another person said, Timu. I've never been on Teemu either. I bought some stuff from Teemu.

02:15:02 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 7:

Me too. It's very hit or miss.

02:15:04 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 2:

Is it? Yeah.

02:15:05 - 02:15:12 | Speaker 7:

It could either be spectacular if you understand what you're getting or you got real scammed. It's been both for me.

02:15:12 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. Here's one. I bet you that you've never eaten at one of these. Have you ever been in an old country buffet?

02:15:18 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 3:

Of course. Oh, God. Yeah. Have you? Yes. Really? Yeah. I tell you, I've never been to Benihana. Really? Really? Never been.

02:15:24 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 7:

But you've been to a hibachi.

02:15:26 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 3:

I've been to Mongolian barbecue. I don't know if that's to say.

02:15:29 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 2:

No, you've never been where they have a table. You're sitting at the table and they cook in front of you.

02:15:33 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, field trip.

02:15:34 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 2:

You're going to be the guy that's going to get excited when the guy does the choo-choo train. The choo-choo train is so fun.

02:15:39 - 02:15:48 | Speaker 7:

As long as they're not trying to throw no fish in my mouth. Or the peeing boy with the sake goes right in your mouth. I'm not doing that. Can you catch a piece of broccoli? I can catch all the broccoli in my mouth.

02:15:48 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 2:

Kevin does not want boys peeing.

02:15:51 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 3:

It's sake.

02:15:51 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 2:

There's no way.

02:15:52 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 3:

There's no way this man is about to chop up some steak and say open wine. Oh, and you catch it? I love it.

02:15:57 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 7:

I get so excited.

02:15:58 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 3:

Hell nah. You can do that. I'm not catching nobody meat.

02:16:04 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Is that what white people think?

02:16:17 - 02:16:17 | Unknown:

No.

02:16:18 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 3:

The only thing y'all done caught in my mind was a snow foot. That's the only thing I'm sticking my tongue out for.

02:16:25 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 2:

No. We're all gone. All right.

02:16:28 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:16:28 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 2:

We're going to go. All right.

02:16:31 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

02:16:32 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning is time now for Am I the A-Hole. This is where we ask you to tell us something that you're doing right now or something that's bothering you that you've done that you're worried people are going to think you're an a-hole about. You can go to Channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app, and there's that little microphone there. That is the talkback mic. it will send us your am i the a-hole just like this one okay so my best friend and i are both

02:17:02 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 4:

engaged and i think we're going to be getting married sometime within the next year and i showed her my wedding dress options that i was thinking about buying and then yesterday she showed me the dress that she bought for her wedding and it's the exact same one that i told her that i wanted oh and so i told her that she should return it because i don't want us having

02:17:23 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 2:

the same dress so like am i in the wrong on this interesting so she's asking is she an a-hole for telling her friend that she has to return the dress um or is the friend the a-hole angela is her name we called her and got her on here for am i the a-hole angela how shocked were you when you

02:17:44 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 5:

noticed that she bought the dress that you showed her oh completely shocked i i thought it was a joke to be honest and then it was very clearly not a joke wow did she even go and buy it from

02:17:57 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 2:

the same place that you showed her where you uh you saw it yes and she made an appointment with

02:18:03 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 7:

the same person that i made an appointment with okay so my question to you is did you show her several different dresses and say it's for sure one of these or you showed her this specific dress and said, this is it, I'm going back to buy this one?

02:18:20 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 6:

Well, I showed her three. So that's kind of, you know, in her favor, I guess. But I said that the one that she bought was, like, my absolute favorite. I really loved it, but just had, like, a plan B and C. Okay.

02:18:37 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 2:

But did she know, she knew that that was your absolute favorite?

02:18:41 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes, 100%.

02:18:43 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 3:

And what was her reaction? Did she downplay the dress, or was she almost as excited as you were?

02:18:49 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 6:

You know, she said, you know, she was very excited about it, and she was just kind of like, oh, you know, I was looking at similar dresses, and then what she ended up telling me, the story was that she went to her appointment and asked to see that dress and fell in love with it when she put it on and just decided, you know, like she had that, you know, yes to the dress moment where her and her grandma and her mom, they all cried. And so she was just like, you know, I just had to get it. This was my dress.

02:19:23 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 2:

Have you tried that dress on yet? Or you just like the dress from the pictures or from seeing it?

02:19:30 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 6:

I have not tried it on yet, but I have had the appointment longer than her. It was just like timing. Otherwise, I would have had it first. and so like but this was the one that i had been i had like pinned for months and she's known that

02:19:47 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

all right this is an interesting one um i don't i mean listen i don't i still never understand why women will get you know this feeling that only one person can wear something they wouldn't make it

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 1:

if they didn't want more people.

02:20:01 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 8:

But not when you're best, when it's friends.

02:20:04 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, same people are going to the weddings.

02:20:07 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 1:

Who's getting married first?

02:20:10 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 7:

So neither of us actually have a set date yet.

02:20:13 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 1:

This is what you need to do, buy that dress and get married before her. And then everybody thinks that she copied it. Hold on. Linda, is Angela an a-hole for being upset at her friend and telling her friend that she can't have that dress?

02:20:26 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

no her friend is her friend who's not really her friend is the a-hole that's not your friend

02:20:33 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 1:

angela so for her doing that you think that's a non-friendship type thing to do

02:20:38 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 3:

oh absolutely it's a big event i'm not a bridezilla so i understand there's like a lot of emotions that come with weddings but this is something important and since they're both doing it at the same time it really blows my mind that someone would literally copy the dress that you're

02:20:53 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 8:

buying that's not your friend even if i agree with you by the way even if that wasn't the dress that you ended up buying because truly you're you're probably going to put that dress on and not like it that's just how it goes it looks different it looks different on a pin or a magazine page than it does on your body however i still maintain your friend is the a-hole because she knew that that was one of the choices and still went ahead and if she was your friend she calls you or facetimes you and said okay i'm in a situation i tried on that dress you showed me because i thought it was beautiful and now i love it what do i do and she didn't even do that it was like she went

02:21:33 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 7:

behind your back and and did it yeah completely like i i even suggested that to her like why didn't you just call me before you bought it like outright uh you know so i don't know rose what do

02:21:47 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 5:

you think rose is angela an a-hole she should have waited and went with the people who say yes to the dress i mean it's kind of your fault for sharing your excitement i guess not really interesting but i feel your pain but get a new dress get a better dress he who laughs laughs

02:22:04 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 1:

laughs the loudest interesting well it can't be that simple so but so you should is this one of those things where you don't share baby names you know what i mean but when it's your best friend

02:22:15 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 5:

And you do. That happens with me and my baby mama, too. But don't share anything in this world. Clearly, it's a dangerous place now and day.

02:22:24 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 1:

Watch out. She might steal your man.

02:22:25 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 5:

But your friendship should be a safe place.

02:22:29 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, but the whole baby name thing, you probably have to be quiet.

02:22:33 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 8:

I didn't tell a damsel. And it wasn't because I didn't want anybody to steal it. It was just because I wanted it to be a surprise.

02:22:42 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 1:

Harley wants to make a comment here. Angela, am I the a-hole? What are your thoughts?

02:22:46 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 4:

I sure do. I think that her friend is the a-hole, and I'll tell you why. She knew the minute that you show her that dress that it was yours. You look good in it. You was beaming in it. And she did it on purpose because guess what? It happened to me. And I'm 43, okay? First time, long time. Hey, man. Hey, man. Hey, man. Hey, man. Literally, like, 13 years, long time. And so my thing is this. she know every woman knows okay that's why we say yes to the dress i say walk it i say do it better and i say show up because everybody has the right to wear that dress but you just change the

02:23:25 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 1:

accessories up that's all that's interesting yeah make it look prettier by doing other stuff to it

02:23:30 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 4:

that's all right i will i sure do i sure would because you are a woman okay i'm gonna take that

02:23:37 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 1:

from you that's we love you thank you for the call tiffany's got an interesting point what's

02:23:44 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 6:

that tiffany um so i'm sorry but i think she's an a-hole like you don't have dibs to address and you could try it on and absolutely hate it i went wedding dress shopping had everything paint that i loved and it didn't fit for my body type i mean unless she is the same measurements as her friend and as a model herself yeah you're gonna look different and you know you should be happy for your friend and just one-upper if you really are really that upset with her. Get something better.

02:24:11 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

Very interesting, yeah. Liz has another one. Liz, you think she's an a-hole. Angela's an a-hole.

02:24:19 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 2:

I think they both are. I think the best friend is an a-hole for kind of being sneaky about it and going behind her back and buying the dress. I also think she's an a-hole for trying to tell someone that they have to return a dress when you realistically haven't even tried it on yet, so you have no idea if you're going to like it.

02:24:35 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Weddings bring the crazy out of people. They do. You know what? I do think, though, but I do think, though, if you tell your friend she can't have that dress, you look like you're being catty and doing that. And Lucinda, your comment, am I the a-hole? What do you think? Angela just found out that her friend bought the same wedding dress that she was going to buy. What do you think?

02:25:00 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, first time, long time. Hey, long time. So I don't think that neither, maybe both, but neither one of them are, and here's why. So they're best friends. You have this relationship because you guys have things in common, and if clothing is the thing that you have in common, there is a chance that you both fall in love with this dress. And it's your day, so you need to focus on you and you in that dress, not your best friend. Let her have her day, you have your day It doesn't matter that you both are wearing the same dress You guys are best friends for that reason

02:25:34 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 2:

What happens if, and here's another one Angela, what happens if she chooses The same place that you're going to have Your wedding And she chooses the date that you Wanted for your wedding What happens if this girl maybe is

02:25:47 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 1:

What if she comes in on your man

02:25:49 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 2:

She wants to be you Have you seen that she has a different man We're just kidding

02:25:56 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 4:

I mean, listen, I was worried about the dress and now I'm worried about a whole bunch of other things.

02:26:01 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 2:

We're just kidding. We're just kidding. Hey.

02:26:03 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 1:

I could almost promise you, though, I'd be very surprised if that is the dress you end up picking when you actually go and start trying on dresses.

02:26:09 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it usually like the.

02:26:10 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 1:

I had one that I 100 percent it was going to be my dress. And when I tried it on, it was so ugly on my body. It just did not look good.

02:26:18 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 2:

And then what you do is you just wear it on the next marriage that you have. So, you know what I mean? Just kind of decide. I hate you. I wasn't saying that for you. I was saying that to Anna. I was raising her. By the way.

02:26:30 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 1:

Although I was at the mall the other day and there was this beautiful wedding dress in the window of Anthropology and I said to Lucy, I go, should we just have another wedding? I go, same guy, but just have another wedding party.

02:26:41 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 2:

She's going to cost you lots of money. All right. Thank you for being on Am I the A-Hole.

02:26:46 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 3:

In 15 or less on Mojo in the Morning. It's Shannon's Dirty on the Dirty. But first.

02:26:51 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 2:

When we come back here in just a little bit, the War of the Roses, you got to stick around for that. busting a cheater, a three-way call, War of the Roses, which makes it very uncomfortable, and I got an update on that. Right after the break, though, Shannon back with us with everyone likes it, but I hate it, and I honestly think the thing she's talking about might be one of the weirdest things ever. We'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.

02:27:15 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Quick break. Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app and never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. M-I-D-A-Hole. or the throwback throwdown. Mojo. Exposing male trash. Loser. One D-bag at a time.

02:27:31 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 4:

War of the Roses! Woo!

02:27:34 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 3:

More of the Roses in minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:27:47 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. shannon went to this like uh crazy place that's in detroit that i'm telling you i don't know how stuff like this is legal and you were talking about it and we didn't get a chance to get a recap on how it was because then we left for like the weekend yeah but um what explain this to i

02:28:14 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to be disrespectful to this place because it's like a local business, but this is purely my opinion. I know there are a ton of people that absolutely love going here. I want to say it's Detroit's first and now only bathhouse that is still in existence. It's called the Schvitz.

02:28:38 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 2:

And what is a bathhouse just for us who don't really know? It sounds like something illegal, doesn't it?

02:28:42 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 1:

It's what you think it is. It's like a health, like... Like you take baths in there? I think maybe back in the day, there's like a pool that's now a cold plunge. It's just cold. But I think it maybe used to be, I don't know if it used to be warm. It was built like in the early 1900s.

02:28:59 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 2:

It sounds to me like a place that you go to...

02:29:01 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 1:

Very historical.

02:29:02 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

And you get a happy ending or something.

02:29:04 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 1:

No, it's nothing like that. No, no, no, no. It's nothing like that. It is. It was built in 1930. Okay, so I'm looking it up now so I can be correct in my historical information. It is Detroit's original urban health club and the only historic bathhouse left in the city. So my sister loves exploring. As a family, we like, you know, trying new restaurants and seeing new places and whatever. And so my sister had said, let's all of the girls in the family. So my mom, myself and my two sisters get together and go and check it out. And so really we we did. And mind you, you can go on their website and see they have a dry sauna. They have a steam sauna. They have this cold plunge. They have a little, they have a smoking room, which I noticed right away when I came in.

02:29:42 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't see women going into something like this.

02:29:45 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

You can. And there are certain days when it's women only and bathing suits are optional. Wow. So you can go naked. If you want, same thing for guys. There are hours and days where only guys could go and bathing suits are optional. We went on a Friday night. So it was co-ed and you had to wear.

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 4:

Do you understand that now I would never be able to go there knowing that there's naked possible balls sitting on that place? Do they clean it?

02:30:12 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 3:

I would hope so. I don't know. We walked in. As soon as we pulled up to this place, I looked at my sister's, and I was like, I.

02:30:23 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm looking at the outside of it. It looks like an older building. Like, it looks like.

02:30:28 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm. It was just really strange. So it's just a bunch of- And people keep telling me, you have to go, you have to go, you're going to love it, you're going to love it. We stayed for maybe 35 minutes, and I was ready to go home.

02:30:42 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 4:

Did you get in your bathing suit?

02:30:43 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

I did. I got in my bathing suit. For 35 minutes is all? I love a good, I love a dry sauna, so I went in there. It was fine. I did the cold plunge for a second. It's just, it's very, very dark. It's old. Everything is tile. It's just, then you go, we went into this one steam room and it was very, very dark except for one little light bulb. And so I'm kind of squinting to see if there's anybody, who else is in there? There were about 50 other people in there. Oh, this is a big point. And then all of a sudden this guy out of the darkness goes, does anybody mind if I do the water? And I'm thinking to myself, what does he mean?

02:31:21 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 4:

His name is Boris.

02:31:22 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 3:

And so he goes and he gets this red bucket and he fills it with this fountain that's on the spigot that's on the side of the wall. And then he hurls it into this hole in the wall that is a, I don't know, fire oven. And the room fills with steam. And then there's this weird door. And I looked at my sister. I go, I feel like a clown is going to come. It was just terrible. The whole thing was really scary.

02:31:46 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 4:

What's the place called?

02:31:47 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 3:

It's called the Schvitz.

02:31:49 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 4:

The Schvitz.

02:31:50 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 3:

Are you cursing at me in Jewish? Again, I know people are texting, and a lot of people love it. It freaked me out.

02:31:57 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 4:

So you guys, but I don't get why. So it was one of those things where. It seems like a thing that a bunch of old. It was all young people. Fat guys go to.

02:32:04 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 3:

It was all young people, and then a bunch of older men who were sitting, smoking cigars, talking in a language that I didn't know. See, that's the vibe it gave me.

02:32:12 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 4:

Like, it seems to me like some place that you don't do a girl's night out at. Like, it doesn't seem like a girl's night out type place.

02:32:19 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 2:

It's B-Y-O-B. But it's, I mean, they can bring drinks if you want. Naked cold plunge, they might be in today.

02:32:25 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't, first off, the people that do this cold plunge thing, I was talking to Brian Reif about this from Planet Fitness, and he was talking about, you know, what it does for you and stuff. I don't like the idea of shocking my body. You know what I mean? Like, I'm telling you, one day they're going to tell you that you stick your finger in a light socket and you're going to live longer or something.

02:32:45 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 3:

Wes and my stuff kids are very big cold plungers. We have a cold plunge in our garage, actually.

02:32:48 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you did it for him. Because I remember he wanted it and you were like, I don't know if I'm going to do it.

02:32:53 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't. Yeah. But this was, it was, I don't know.

02:32:56 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 4:

This is, this is wild.

02:32:58 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 2:

It was terrifying. I'm still on the naked ladies night.

02:33:01 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 3:

But it's one of those things where over the years, so many people have said, you need to go, you're going to absolutely love it. And I went and went, I hate this. I am one and done.

02:33:11 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 4:

It just feels to me like, ugh. You would, you. I would hate it.

02:33:15 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 2:

You wouldn't even walk in. What's the ugh part though?

02:33:16 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 4:

Huh?

02:33:17 - 02:33:18 | Speaker 2:

What's the ugh part?

02:33:18 - 02:33:43 | Speaker 4:

The uck part is the guy, I don't like, like, I won't go to the type of health clubs where they have saunas and the guys go in there naked. Like, I just don't, not because I'm homophobic, guys. I'm not homophobic. Right. I just don't want somebody else's privates, you know, sweating next to me. You know what I mean? No. I just have a hard time with a sphere.

02:33:43 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Like, I'll go into the sauna in a towel with other girls. That doesn't bother me. It was just, this place is haunted.

02:33:51 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 2:

There is something there. It's not just towels. They got a sausage on the grills.

02:33:56 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 4:

You bring your own sausage. It's B-Y-O-B. B-Y-O-S. Bring your own sausage.

02:34:03 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't following for a second. I don't know.

02:34:05 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 4:

What's up? Initial S would like to be voice disguised to talk about Shannon's girls' night out. What's happening?

02:34:12 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 1:

hey uh long time first caller what's going on hey um so eight years ago eight or nine years ago um the schvitz is a club for

02:34:31 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 4:

baking cookies what it was like a it's like a swingers club or something like full on it was

02:34:38 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 1:

It's the most diabolical place I have ever been to. Allegedly. Allegedly.

02:34:44 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 4:

We don't want to get sued.

02:34:45 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 1:

Allegedly. Allegedly.

02:34:47 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 4:

Why? Did you go there? And did you partake in any of that?

02:34:52 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 1:

I didn't partake in, like, that part. But there was, you walk in, and it's. totally nude and it's weird because like we ate a steak it was like a restaurant yeah with anyway so there was uh which is funny because when i eat a steak the last thing in

02:35:15 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 2:

the world i want to do is have sex i'm more of a sea bass guy on sex night but

02:35:21 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 4:

How many eyes like that?

02:35:25 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 2:

So, S, did you end up having any kind of sex with somebody that you met there or you knew that you brought with you?

02:35:36 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 1:

No, but you could watch people.

02:35:38 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 4:

See, obviously, I am to each their own. I would not have brought my mother there had I known that it was that kind of place. I didn't I really did not get that vibe. for me it was just more of a scary movie vibe yeah i you know it's funny you know what this

02:35:56 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 2:

reminds me of uh and it reminds me of when i was a kid my my dad had a membership at uh god what the hell was the club called it was this club in uh in orland park illinois it was like a health club and uh it was like one of those not chain places and my dad took me as a kid because my mom couldn't watch me. So he was kind of like, you know, I'm going to the health club. And he went to go sit in the whirlpool. And I was like, oh, cool. I get to go and hang out in the whirlpool. So I went into the whirlpool and I'm in there and, you know, I was a little kid with my swim trunks on and stuff. And a man comes walking in and I started seeing like the freaking, you know, trunk of the trunk of the animal like swinging out. and he gets in naked next to me and the whole time i'm like dad get me out of here that's what i fear figure when i go to something like this if i'm gonna go to this i can't do it i'm not into it at all like i don't mind places like this like you know there's obviously history

02:37:04 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 4:

to it but it's just not me yeah and then the idea i love the history of it but it it just i was very

02:37:10 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 2:

uncomfortable uh john what's up it's uh mojo in the morning how you doing john yeah how about good what's what's happening how is everybody doing this morning we're doing good we're talking bathhouses john are you a bathhouse kind of guy yeah i've been going that place uh for 15 years i just haven't been there in the last two years really and and do you ever have a steak do they do they make food for you uh yeah you gotta get on all fours to eat it No, man. John, are you going on clothing optional day? Yeah. So you like to be naked there, huh? I'm blessed. What did he say? He said he's blessed.

02:38:08 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

02:38:08 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 2:

So, John, it's a relaxing place to go to, huh?

02:38:14 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. If you get there on a Sunday morning to have brunch, you know,

02:38:18 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 2:

you can get some fruit. They have brunch. They do brunch. That's amazing. Brunch and bowls. John, hang on real quick. Hold on. Stay on the phone with us. Stephanie's upset with Shannon. What's that, Stephanie?

02:38:32 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. No, I just felt like she just sounded a little, like, ignorant, and kind of uncultured um okay she just sounded like a i mean you know just very american gal um i am 100 american what does she say though yeah just just like the uh and it looked dingy and like a clown is going to come out like yeah yeah no they're dark like that because they're just supposed to be like relaxation and you're supposed to go like and clean yourselves and like that's

02:39:03 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 2:

what it's for it's supposed to just real quick it was not my thing real quick uh john say hi to stephanie john hey stephanie how you doing good john goes all the time and john says it's very relaxing and by the way stephanie he's blessed well i don't agree with the co-ed i think that's

02:39:23 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 3:

very odd and very weird i would feel very uncomfortable going uh with men but like for With the women, like, only, and men only, like, yeah, for sure. But that's weird. I think that's very odd that they do co-ed.

02:39:35 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 2:

John, talk her into co-ed. Go ahead, John. It's a great place to go with those men to get out of it.

02:39:41 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 4:

You know, you want to sit back and relax and get some steam and quality time with each other, you know?

02:39:46 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:39:49 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 2:

No, no, Stephanie, you're sounding uneducated and not cultured.

02:39:54 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

No, no, just no, no, no. Let's get that very straight. No, no, no, no, no, no. is to go and bathe.

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 5:

with your own gender is very different than having somebody look at you and get aroused because you're...

02:40:04 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 4:

John never said get aroused. That's crazy.

02:40:10 - 02:40:12 | Speaker 5:

No, but that's kind of like...

02:40:12 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 4:

John, did you get aroused?

02:40:14 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:40:15 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 4:

No, okay. I'm getting aroused. All right. Well, listen, guys, thank you for this. I'm going to have to pass on it. I think there's a lot of things that I will try. I don't know if I'm going to a bathhouse, though.

02:40:28 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to...

02:40:29 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:40:29 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:40:29 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, John.

02:40:31 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 5:

Right. But for her, though, just like, I don't know, just like I put kind of a bad taste in my mouth with her speaking about it. Just because it just sounded like you weren't really educated on what you were talking about. I am sorry I'm not educated.

02:40:42 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 4:

John, what were you going to say?

02:40:43 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry I offended you. No, totally cool.

02:40:47 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Hold on, Stephanie. John's trying to talk here. Go ahead, John.

02:40:51 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 5:

Once you learn a history about that place, you'll kind of like it and understand it.

02:40:54 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. I'll learn history about it. I'll try it. Can anybody come, or you got to be, like, invited?

02:41:00 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 6:

No, anybody can go.

02:41:01 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, you don't need to. I'm going to buy. No, anybody can go.

02:41:04 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 6:

You just can go whenever.

02:41:05 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 4:

I know what I'm buying Shannon for Christmas this year. I'm going to get her a membership to it. She has to go with Stephanie, though. Stephanie, is that okay?

02:41:16 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 5:

But, like, bathhouses are, like, really big in, like, Asian cultures and, like, Middle Eastern cultures.

02:41:22 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 7:

They're big in New York City now. Are you Asian? This specific one just made me feel very uncomfortable.

02:41:27 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Listen, I don't know.

02:41:31 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 5:

Maybe because it was in Detroit, maybe they just didn't have it up-to-date or something.

02:41:35 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 4:

No, no, in Detroit, now you've got to relax, Stephanie. No, now you're in. Hold on a second. That's where we stop here. Hold on. Alexis, what did you want to say, Alexis?

02:41:47 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 2:

I just want to say that Stephanie is the one who's ignorant and rude. Shannon was being super nice about it, And she just comes on here saying she's not cultured and this and that. No, she was very polite and respectful.

02:42:02 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 5:

It's okay. It's okay.

02:42:05 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 4:

I got to be honest. We're going to do a radio show broadcast from the bathhouse, all of us together. Won't you think that would be fun? You think Megan would buy into that? Megan would be like, no, I'm never doing anything. All right. Well, listen, guys, thank you so much. We appreciate it. You take care. Everybody have a good day.

02:42:27 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 5:

Thanks. Bye.

02:42:28 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 4:

Bye.

02:42:30 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 3:

02:43:05 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:43:08 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to get a look at what's trending. This War of the Roses is good. You got to listen to it. It's coming up in just a little bit. What do you got, Shannon?

02:43:15 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 7:

So, it was a very interesting press conference in the Oval Office yesterday with President Trump and Kid Rock in a full-on red, white, and blue suit, I guess you could call it, standing right beside him.

02:43:30 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Who, by the way, picks out his clothing for him?

02:43:32 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 7:

I feel like he does.

02:43:33 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 4:

It's all the Stevie Wonder.

02:43:35 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 7:

The president signed an executive order to help, hopefully, curb ticket scalping and bring some changes to the way that live entertainment events are priced for all of us concert fans.

02:43:47 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 1:

The artists don't see any of that money. And, you know, ultimately, I think this is a great first step. I would love down the road if there would be some legislation that we could actually put a cap on the resale of tickets. And I'm a capitalist and a deregulation guy, but they've tried this in some places in Europe, And it seems to be the only thing that's us as artists be able to get the tickets in the hands of the fans at the prices we set.

02:44:10 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 7:

I mean, anybody who's bought a ticket in the last 10, 15, 20 years, I don't know how long it's been. I feel like it's been getting worse and worse and worse. And we saw this highlighted so well with the Eras Tour.

02:44:23 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 1:

Did Biden do missed offenses like this being there? I don't think. No.

02:44:27 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 3:

He was never standing next to somebody who looked like they were about to get shot out of a cannon.

02:44:33 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 7:

During that same press conference yesterday, by the way, the president commenting on all sorts of other things, for lack of a better word, including the relationship between his former daughter-in-law, Vanessa, and Tiger Woods.

02:44:45 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 3:

What is your thought about Tiger Woods now becoming part of the broader Trump family?

02:44:51 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, I love Tiger, and I love Vanessa, and they had a great relationship. I happen to think the relationship... With my son, I think, I happen to think the relationship was hurt very badly by the witch hunt that went on. Russia, Russia, Russia, and all the crap that they put Don through. Who knew nothing about it? But Vanessa and Don had a very good relationship. They have incredible children, five incredible children. They have a very special, very good relationship with Tiger. I played golf with him a couple of times over the last month. And he's a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete. And he told me about it. And I said, Tiger, that's good. I'm very happy for both. I just let them both be happy.

02:45:35 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Virginia Dufri is one of many women who accused Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew, and some of the world's most powerful men, really, of sex trafficking and rape. She now says that she has just four days left to live. Apparently, a bus, she was hit by a bus, a bus crashed into her car. She shared a photo of herself from a hospital bed yesterday. She's beaten really badly. It looks like just covered in bruises and scrapes. She now says she's suffering from kidney failure and, again, doesn't have that much longer to live. I don't have many other details about this accident or her current condition. Where was it that took place? I don't know. That's a great question. I don't know.

02:46:13 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 4:

Because I would be honest with you. I still think that there's something shady about this. There's a hair in the butter?

02:46:19 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're not the only one. Last night, Prince Andrew's ex, Lady Victoria Hervey, got on Instagram, reposted Virginia's post and wrote as the caption, karma. She then went back and said, Virginia needs to make a complete confession after she sued Prince Andrew for allegedly raping her when she was 17 years old. Without any evidence, Lady Virginia or Lady Victoria, excuse me, claims hearing from reliable sources, it is thought that the FBI went to her recently with proof that she lied with recordings where she admits nothing actually ever happened with Prince Andrew. She is conveniently dying, quote unquote, to evade jail. I mean, that's a big allegation.

02:47:05 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 4:

So so it happened in Australia, I think Western Australia, Perth.

02:47:11 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:47:12 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this girl had to live there because of all the stuff that Epstein's done. I guess she's kind of used that as her place to live.

02:47:20 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 5:

All buses have cameras on them, right?

02:47:23 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 4:

You would think, right? And they would kind of be able to see it. I hear these stories sometimes where you'll hear somebody was involved in something, and then all of a sudden they turn up dead. Yeah. And you go, oh, okay. And it seems a little suspicious, you know?

02:47:41 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 2:

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's 10-year-old son Rain clearing up the rumor yesterday that Justin Bieber is his dad.

02:47:49 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:47:50 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 2:

No, he's not.

02:47:51 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 3:

No, I swear. Justin Bieber's not my dad.

02:47:55 - 02:47:55 | Unknown:

He's so cute.

02:47:56 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Scotty. Scotty.

02:47:58 - 02:47:59 | Unknown:

Scotty.

02:47:59 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 3:

Scotty is amazing. I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. Yeah, I don't think my mom would do that when I got born.

02:48:06 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 4:

I like him. Interesting. What do we think? Does he look anything like Justin Bieber? I like the kid.

02:48:11 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 5:

What's his name? Let me go. Rain. Rain. Let's look at Rain. R-E-I-G-N.

02:48:15 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 4:

What do you think? Do you look at? That would be a great Maury Povich, you know?

02:48:21 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 2:

How do I spell his boy name?

02:48:23 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 4:

Put that together.

02:48:24 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 2:

Did I spell that right? R-E-I-G-N? R-E-I-G-N. I might be wrong on that. Rain Distance.

02:48:29 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 4:

How old would Justin have been at the time? So he would have been 16 years old?

02:48:34 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they do look alike.

02:48:36 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 4:

Interesting. That would be crazy. No. That would be like the greatest tie-in ever, wouldn't it? Bruh. If all of a sudden you find out that...

02:48:43 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of babies, by the way, and celebrities and Justin Bieber, in fact, there's a new study that was released today. One in two Gen Z parents plan to name their kids after celebrities. And Justin, as in Bieber, is one of the top celebrity boy names. Leo and then Jacob. Jacob Lordi. Interesting. Saltburn. uh sabrina is going to be a big one for sabrina carpenter and olivia for olivia rodrigo yeah they said 46 of gen z parents are looking at the celebrities that they love and admire for their

02:49:15 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 4:

own kid names where's the creativity what about a mojo uh kevin shannon megan i would love for

02:49:22 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 5:

somebody to name a baby mojo uh that would be fire low key please i would love that somebody

02:49:29 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 4:

to do it on here. I'll be the godfather.

02:49:31 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 5:

If you're pregnant right now and you haven't decided yet. Why don't we do this?

02:49:35 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 4:

Here, we do Mojo Gives You a Baby with IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center. Why don't we say that the only people that can enter is if they sign up to say that if the baby is born, boy or girl, the name has to be Mojo. I like it. I like that too. It's naming rights. I get naming rights over your baby.

02:49:55 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's Dirty Ketchup, I'm checking out the podcast. Yeah, what else do you want to do?

02:49:59 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if you had any other stories.

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I interrupted you there, but no, that's good.

02:50:02 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app. That was excellent. Good job, Shannon.

02:50:06 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:50:06 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 2:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:50:12 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 3:

War of the Roses, really good. It's next. All right. This War of the Roses, on a scale of one being the most normal to five being the most unusual, I would say it's like a six. I don't know what it was. I'll be quite honest with you, and the update that I got from you or for you is he's losing a roommate and a girlfriend. So I guess there's a total chaos going on right now in Nick's life. Listen to this War of the Roses. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:53 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:59 - 02:50:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Nick.

02:51:01 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:51:03 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 3:

Hi, buddy. How you doing, man? So I heard that you think that your girlfriend is cheating with your roommate.

02:51:12 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:51:13 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 3:

And do you guys all live together?

02:51:16 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. My girlfriend and my roommate, but he lives kind of like in the basement.

02:51:23 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so what is it that made you start thinking that your roommate and her were together?

02:51:34 - 02:52:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't really know. So I live in like a two-bedroom. So my girlfriend and I stay in one room, and then my roommate's like downstairs. But she sent me a text, and I don't know if it was meant for me. I mean, it sounds like it's meant for me, but listen to it. It says, let me get it. Hold on a second. It says, miss you so much. Can't wait to see you tonight when I get home and I miss your bed. Why would she text me she misses my bed when it's our bed?

02:52:06 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 3:

And you guys have been sleeping in that bed together. Yeah. Have you ever seen her texting him aside from you before?

02:52:16 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 4:

um i mean i mean we we are in a group a group chat i mean hopefully i don't know i hopefully she's i don't go through her phone or anything but like hopefully she's not you know i mean if my roommates should know that like it would be not cool for him and my girlfriend to text each other

02:52:37 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 1:

is there ever was there ever an opportunity for her to be in his bed like for her for for that to be a text...

02:52:44 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Come on. What kind of opportunity? Why would she...

02:52:47 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

But what I'm saying is if they're always sleeping together, how is she ever going to have been in his bed?

02:52:53 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you see what I mean? I thought you meant it was like a mistake in like, oh, I really do like his bed. So you're saying, are you ever not around enough that they could be banging each other?

02:53:04 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, she works from home. I don't.

02:53:08 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:53:09 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 4:

Like, I have to leave to go to work. So she is home all day, but she works from home. Okay, so my roommate, he comes and goes.

02:53:17 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 3:

There are times when those two guys are alone together at your place.

02:53:21 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 4:

They could, eh? When I'm at work, if she works from home and he, like, you know, doesn't work late or I don't know.

02:53:26 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 3:

Here's what we're going to do. We're going to do a three-way call, War of the Roses, where we call her up and him up. They're not together right now because if they're together right now, it won't work. Are they together right now?

02:53:43 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 4:

Um, I don't, I don't think so. I mean, I think my, I mean, my roommate should be at work and Abby, she should be home. I mean, working, but like, I don't think we do this.

02:53:52 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 3:

We'll do a three-way call war of the roses and we will call them both up at the same time to see what happens when they don't think that you're on the phone listening or we're on the phone listening. You're going to have to mute your phone. You're, you're a little talkative and I, I want, and I want worry about you saying something that's going to end up blowing this.

02:54:12 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 1:

Remember, the longer we can let them talk, the more information we can get.

02:54:18 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 3:

Sounds good. So mute your phone right now. Okay. All right. War of the Roses. Three-way call. And we're calling up Nick's girlfriend and roommate.

02:54:37 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Hello? Hello? hello hello hey hey oh what's up what's going on i mean

02:55:00 - 02:55:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm just really tired. Oh, really, huh? Eh. That'll happen sometimes.

02:55:10 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 2:

It's your fault.

02:55:12 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

You kept me up too late last night. What do you mean?

02:55:18 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean.

02:55:25 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is... so what's uh this isn't going to affect you at all your day at all huh is this going to be negative effect i'm making it work oh that's good yeah i'm making it work too i mean i'm not i don't feel as tired as you sound but uh it definitely sounds like you need some like coffee or something.

02:55:55 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, I was the one doing all the work, so it makes sense that I'm more tired than you are.

02:56:01 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 3:

I can agree to that. How about next time I make it up to you, huh? I'll do all the work next time. How's that? Oh, okay. Yeah, we'll see. You got any plans for tonight?

02:56:19 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 2:

no i was just planning on being at the house oh good i am too maybe we can uh figure something

02:56:30 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 3:

out i can make it up to you yeah how you can do that i'm thinking i could make us all dinner tonight really yeah i don't know if i've ever actually seen you cook oh i'm i'm a really good cook you can ask uh you can ask him uh we've uh he knows all about my

02:56:59 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

cooking yeah i'm sure he'll love that if i'm just like hey how is he at cooking he'll be like Where is this coming from?

02:57:10 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 3:

I got to probably keep it on the down low.

02:57:14 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to make anything special?

02:57:17 - 02:57:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You know, I've got that. I make a really mean grilled apricot chicken. You're going to love it.

02:57:27 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Just a romantic dinner for three.

02:57:37 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 1:

sure when you plan on making dinner luke are you going to make dinner for uh just you and abby or is the third that you're talking about is going to be nick

02:57:48 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 3:

yeah let's we should it probably makes sense to make it as two yeah um luke yeah i was actually

02:58:05 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 1:

thinking a romantic dinner for two luke can i uh can i ask is the reason why abby is so tired today because you guys were doing something with each other last night

02:58:16 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 3:

uh yeah you can say that in a way we were we were up all night what were you guys doing

02:58:26 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 1:

You have no idea what's going on right now, do you?

02:58:38 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I thought this was a confessional kind of thing

02:58:42 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 1:

A confessional, okay Abby and Luke, this is the mojo in the morning show And Nick called us to say that he wanted to know what was going on between the two of you guys, and I don't know how much Nick knows, but it sounds to me like you and Luke, Abby, are more than just living under the same roof.

02:59:07 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Nick called you?

02:59:10 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 1:

Nick's on the phone right now. Nick, what do you want to say? I'm like shocked.

02:59:20 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:59:21 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 1:

Like, I'm shocked. Where were you yesterday, Nick?

02:59:27 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 3:

I was at work. I worked late, and then I had to go out with a co-worker.

02:59:34 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 1:

So, Nick, you were not home, and you had nothing to do with the whole, I'm tired? No.

02:59:45 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand. Like, how long has this been going on?

02:59:50 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 2:

Was she in bed? Was she in your bed when you got home?

02:59:52 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 3:

Um, yeah.

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 2:

Abby, what is going on between you and Luke?

03:00:05 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 3:

Like, I don't understand why. I don't really want to get involved in this.

03:00:11 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 2:

The problem is that you're already involved in this, Abby. You're the reason why we're involved in this.

03:00:18 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 3:

I didn't call you, so I would say that I'm not the reason that we're having this conversation.

03:00:24 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 2:

Were you ever going to tell your boyfriend that you're cheating on him?

03:00:30 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 3:

i i wouldn't that just sounds so bad um well what would you call it um

03:00:45 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 2:

why don't you think about that and hold on one second

03:00:52 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 1:

03:01:26 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't know what to think.

03:01:28 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'm going to put you on hold, and I'm going to let you guys, just you and Abby, talk. So stay right here, okay? Okay. War of the Roses. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. When your roommate cheats with your girlfriend, makes for a very tough living arrangement there, poor guy. Katie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

03:02:08 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, guys.

03:02:09 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. What's going on?

03:02:11 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 5:

um this one made me a little anxious or a lot anxious listening to them talk to each other like it was a joke and cute and funny to be doing this behind nick's back um just kind of brought me back to my younger years when it kind of happened to me the same way and um i just i feel really bad for him because yeah these people both do not care about him at all when you say

03:02:37 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 2:

your younger years how young were you when this was going on um my late teens early 20s i had a really bad picker when it came to men and it was it somebody that you knew that you were you trusted

03:02:50 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 5:

that cheated with them oh yeah no exact exact same situation um i i was living with a good friend i thought my roommate and um a guy i started seeing how we were together for like six months and yeah I found out they were pretty much together that whole entire time.

03:03:07 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 2:

I wonder how many people have had that where their roommate cheated with their relationship. 844 Mojo Live, if you want to call us on that one. Is it because you just weren't home at the time and they had access to being there and you never really thought much of, you know?

03:03:20 - 03:03:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we were different chefs. And I think that's what it came down to.

03:03:26 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate your call. And I know I feel the same way, too. I feel bad for this poor guy. I do have to tell you, though, for some reason, when we do these three-way calls, and the video will speak for itself when you see it on TikTok, especially if it's posted this way, but when the guy starts talking about his apricot chicken, I almost started laughing looking at Kevin.

03:03:47 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We all did.

03:03:48 - 03:03:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Who says that?

03:03:49 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 4:

I thought Kev was going to fall off his chair.

03:03:51 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 2:

I want to see what that apricot chicken is all about. What's going on, Christina? Hi.

03:03:57 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 4:

Hi. That was a very interesting call, to say the least.

03:04:02 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:04:04 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 4:

When she said she doesn't want to get involved, she blew my mind because she's the main reason. Yeah, that's why we're here.

03:04:12 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 1:

Right?

03:04:13 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 4:

Right. Just because she didn't call in doesn't make it any less of a problem. No. She brought herself here.

03:04:19 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, their conversation together is going to be an awkward situation because she doesn't seem like she wants to have any kind of conversation with Nick at all.

03:04:32 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 5:

Well, and she also didn't want to call it cheating. She doesn't want to take the responsibility.

03:04:36 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Right. Right.

03:04:38 - 03:04:43 | Speaker 2:

She just wants to have the fun. Have you ever had apricot chicken? Grilled. Grilled apricot chicken. Grilled apricot chicken.

03:04:44 - 03:04:44 | Speaker 3:

No.

03:04:45 - 03:04:47 | Speaker 2:

With a little jasmine rice, it makes it all good.

03:04:47 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 3:

That's why we need to name this War of the Roses, by the way. We always came and hauled over what we're going to name the War of the Roses on the podcast. It is going to be called Grilled Apricot Chicken.

03:04:56 - 03:04:57 | Speaker 2:

Just look for it. Angela, hi.

03:04:59 - 03:04:59 | Unknown:

Hi.

03:05:00 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 3:

Like, you said Nick was real chatty. You didn't even let the roommates say exactly what they did. I was like, Mojo, let him say it. Let him just answer the question.

03:05:09 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 6:

Angela, it might have been the longest that you've ever heard the two talking to each other. How much more do you need from those guys?

03:05:15 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 3:

No, but you know what? Big mistake. You never move in the opposite sex in with you and a roommate. That's the biggest red flag ever.

03:05:26 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 6:

So you say don't have, if you have a girlfriend living with you, don't ever bring another potential person in.

03:05:37 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 3:

No, uh-uh, never, ever. It never works out. I've never seen a situation where two male roommates who move in a girlfriend work out or two females who move in their male boyfriend. It never, ever works out, ever. It always will lead to something. It's a red flag.

03:05:58 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

03:05:58 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Especially when they're young.

03:06:00 - 03:06:03 | Speaker 6:

That's a good point. Yeah. Thank you for the call, Angela. I love you for listening.

03:06:03 - 03:06:06 | Speaker 3:

You're welcome. Take care of yourself. Okay, thanks. Bye-bye.

03:06:07 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 6:

Antonio. What's up, Antonio? It's War of the Roses.

03:06:10 - 03:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on, y'all? Yeah, like the last girl was saying, I'm in shock that baby girl was just stunned. Like, she was quiet. Like, she didn't know how to handle it. But like the last girl said, at this point, yeah, Buddy's going to be scarred for life because now when he's in his own apartment, he talks about bringing the girl over and he has a friend over, like, can you really trust it now? And, yeah, it's just a messy situation.

03:06:35 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I agree. It's a, I don't know. Sonia, what do you think should happen?

03:06:44 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, the guy that's staying with his friend, yeah, he needs to be kicked out. So all of this stuff on the front lawn, it is terrible how crappy people can be.

03:06:53 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 6:

So Luke needs to go. But what about the girlfriend? She needs to go, too, then.

03:06:58 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. It is so terrible how crappy people can be. You save a guy from being homeless, and that's what he does, right? No, both of them out of there.

03:07:07 - 03:07:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's going to make it very interesting to try to see if he can afford the rent. What's up, Amber? Hi, you got a story for us about romance and the roommate?

03:07:16 - 03:07:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I had a commitment ceremony. me with my girlfriend at the time um in June of 2016 and then by August she was cheating on me with my best friend who we all live together and work together oh god that's messy how did you find out so I found out from his ex-girlfriend she had his Facebook password and she was signed into his messenger and she screenshotted all the messages and sent them to me from his Facebook wow and so

03:07:49 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 6:

what happens after the fact who moves out and how do you pay the rent and how do you do all the

03:07:53 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 5:

stuff oh so they actually stayed together and moved out and got like legally married a couple months later oh geez wow did you go to the wedding yeah uh actually it's wild because we kind of like made amends a couple years later and i actually stood up in their wedding oh my god that's crazy

03:08:16 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 6:

That is nuts.

03:08:17 - 03:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's messed up. You just introduced him.

03:08:19 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Wow, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

03:08:23 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, thanks, guys.

03:08:24 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 6:

Lydia says that their conversation has ended, so those two are not talking right now. So we'll try to get an update from Nick on what's going to happen in this relationship and what's going to happen with your roommate.

03:08:37 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses, the throwback throwdown, and the dirty of the dirty. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:08:45 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning I want to shout out a couple people that are listening this morning I got to say hello to Kristen who is listening to us this morning on SNX and Grand Rapids She said that she met us out in Grand Rapids over St. Patrick's Day when we were there for Irish on Ionia or off Ionia and said that she loved getting a chance to take a picture with us. She's listening this morning. Also, a guy by the name of Doug is listening. I want to say hey to Doug. And Doug is a guy who I met when I was recently traveling and I met him at the airport. Big listener came up to me and told me that I packed too much. He said my bag was too much. He was like our boss who travels with just a backpack and stuff. These people that bring...

03:10:00 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 2:

you know, just like one little bag on a trip, you've got to understand you're short and you're skinny people. Tall, fat guys like me have big clothes that are tough to fit in bags.

03:10:14 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 1:

You just don't know how to pack. That's what it is.

03:10:16 - 03:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, it's not that. You've got to have proper – like my underwear is big. I just don't know if you know this.

03:10:21 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 1:

You don't know how to roll, bro. You've got to like military pack.

03:10:24 - 03:10:35 | Speaker 2:

There's a way to do it. Yeah, I can't – I'm not a military packer. I don't necessarily military pack. Also, I don't want my clothes looking like they're all wrinkled and stuff.

03:10:35 - 03:10:37 | Speaker 1:

That's why they have irons in the hotel, bro.

03:10:38 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 2:

If you go to Vegas, do you check a bag? Because I will never check a bag going to Vegas. I don't check a bag anywhere. We go to Vegas for the iHeartRadio Festival.

03:10:47 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 1:

Are we going this year?

03:10:48 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 2:

I hope. I would love to be invited again.

03:10:50 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 1:

I thought I'd want to go so bad. Tony, please. Colleen, please.

03:10:52 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 2:

But here's the thing. When we have gone in the past, going with Megan and Shannon is a nightmare because we have to go down to the carousels instead of getting out and enjoying our Vegas.

03:11:05 - 03:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you something. They do it so fast there. We maybe wait six minutes.

03:11:10 - 03:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, it seems like 8,000 years.

03:11:14 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 1:

The last time I checked the bag, Josiah was turning six. And I literally never check bags. I take my carry on. I do everything I can to fit what I need in there. Last time I took a bag, Josiah was turning six. We went to Disney World for his birthday. And they stole his shoes out of the top of the bag. No. Swear to God.

03:11:33 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 2:

The TSA or the airport? TSA. Or the airport?

03:11:36 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 1:

Like, got my bag, looked inside. His shoes were supposed to be on top. And they weren't here at all. After you flew to Orlando? No, that's when I flew on. You only get flued if somebody pays for you to go. Oh, okay.

03:11:49 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 2:

remember i'm uncultured also i want to shout out nora nora who i met yesterday a huge listener and she actually gave me a topic and i don't know if we'll get anything off of this one because i feel like our listeners are giving up on calling us sometimes and today seems like a like a weird phone day so we might we may yeah it's you know sometimes it's when we do order the roses second date updates we always get good calls but i feel like we have to really hit home with somebody for them to call us up on something random and here is the uh the thing that she said um she said that she broke up with her boyfriend of eight years because she said he played fortnight more than playing with her every night she would go to bed and he'd be playing fortnight And she said that she would even come to bed naked and take care of herself next to him. And the guy would still be playing the game. So I was going to ask this question of what was your partner more into than you? Like what was it that your partner was like way into more than they were into you? Video games seems like it would be a popular one.

03:13:05 - 03:13:52 | Speaker 1:

I could never be with a gamer. That would drive me off the wall. Were you with a gamer? Yeah, I was dating a girl, and we were living together, and she came home, and I had like an L-shaped desk, and I was tucked into the L-shape, I was at the base of the L, and I'm playing Madden, I got the headset on, and when you're playing live, you can't pause it, and if you do, you only get so many pauses, or they'll call it like, I don't know, an egregious act, and they'll like kick you from the game, and that's a loss on your record, and I'm not trying to take an F. I didn't know what she was doing, but she said she wanted to eat cookies. She was trying to spin my game chair around. And I'm kind of like, bro, what are you doing? Like, I'm in the middle of the thing.

03:13:52 - 03:13:53 | Speaker 2:

He has a game chair.

03:13:54 - 03:14:12 | Speaker 1:

I was really trying to, this is like fresh out COVID. I'm like, man, I'm about to stream games. I'm about to lock in. And yeah, she was mad and walking. That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over. I might find this moment. To me, I would... You still have the chair? I gave it to my cousin.

03:14:15 - 03:14:36 | Speaker 2:

You know if you're a video game player that you probably are playing your video games more than you're playing with your... Because I did this. I used to do Madden all the time. And I would find myself coming to bed at 5 o'clock in the morning. And you're exhausted. And all you want to do is sleep all day. Like, I was never going to bed at the time that Chelsea died.

03:14:36 - 03:14:36 | Speaker 1:

Nice.

03:14:38 - 03:14:55 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. My spouse plays with blank more than he plays with me. Carolyn, hi. Hi. How are you? Hi. I'm good. How are you? We're great. What's going on? Do you got one for us on this topic? I do.

03:14:56 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 1:

My first boyfriend back in, like, high school, so this was, like, a long time ago.

03:15:00 - 03:15:06 | Speaker 4:

ago he was way more obsessed with fish and this little crab that we bought

03:15:06 - 03:15:19 | Speaker 1:

you're kidding anything to do with me you're kidding me so here you are a woman with uh with t's and a v and she in this guy would never want to be with you he'd want to be playing with his

03:15:19 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 4:

fish how do you play with fish he was obsessed he had a bunch of these like tanks all over his house There was one time we got into his car after he bought a brand-new crab. I put it on the dash to buckle up my seatbelt, and he freaked out because I wasn't watching the crab.

03:15:35 - 03:15:41 | Speaker 2:

What the hell? He's like, guys. I want to see what you look like. How expensive were they? Are these, like, expensive fish?

03:15:41 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 4:

They were, like, $7. They were not expensive.

03:15:45 - 03:15:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. By the way, I'm going to go on a record and say that guys with fish tanks are weirdos. You know? You think so?

03:15:54 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 2:

It was insane.

03:15:55 - 03:15:57 | Speaker 1:

No grown man should have a fish tank.

03:15:57 - 03:15:59 | Speaker 2:

What if his piranha's in there? Does that make a difference?

03:15:59 - 03:16:03 | Speaker 1:

No, that's guys with snakes, too. They're freaky.

03:16:03 - 03:16:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I have a friend who I love. He's got tanks. CJ, you're cool. I feel like I need to clear his name.

03:16:13 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Monica, my man's more into blank than he is into me. Say that again.

03:16:20 - 03:16:22 | Speaker 5:

He is so into hunting. Hunting.

03:16:22 - 03:16:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so he likes his hunting more than you, huh?

03:16:28 - 03:16:33 | Speaker 5:

Yes. I wanted to get married in September, and he was like, I mean, you can, but I won't be there.

03:16:33 - 03:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wow. Have you ever thought of, like, putting on antlers or anything like that? Ooh. Okay.

03:16:41 - 03:16:44 | Speaker 5:

I do have a camo nightie. Maybe that would help.

03:16:45 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 1:

Do you go with him, or will he not allow that to happen?

03:16:47 - 03:16:55 | Speaker 5:

No. No, I'm total girly girl. I would not be able to sit in a tree for hours on end. No, thank you.

03:16:56 - 03:17:09 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what it is, but these guys that have, you know, women with pulses. And the problem is, honestly, you probably give them a lot. You must give them sex a lot, don't you?

03:17:10 - 03:17:12 | Speaker 5:

Well, because I miss them. So when I see them, yeah.

03:17:13 - 03:17:31 | Speaker 1:

But if you hold out completely out of this guy, I guarantee you he'd give up deer hunting. I'm not trying to get this guy, you know, to come in and try to kill me for this thing. But I think that as a guy, I would want to have sex every single day. I would give up. Listen, I'd give up my children for sex, you know, and I love my children.

03:17:31 - 03:17:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he's alligator hunting right now in Florida. But when he gets home, I'm going to say Mojo told me to hold out.

03:17:38 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. So you don't need me anymore. No, no, no. Monica, the guy's an alligator hunter. He'll kill me. like i i'm thinking this guy's you know a typical michigan guy that just goes up north and sits in a deer blind all day but if the guy's your alligator hunting he probably he will hunt anything anything and everything yeah what's his first name chris oh okay he's got a nine

03:18:02 - 03:18:10 | Speaker 2:

tell him if he's hunting deer tell him uh vagina over venison that's right there you go

03:18:10 - 03:18:21 | Speaker 1:

All right, Monica, you know what we should do? We should call him right now and pretend like Kev came over to your house and it's some random guy that you brought into the house.

03:18:21 - 03:18:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. No. He would get so mad. Let's do it.

03:18:25 - 03:18:28 | Speaker 1:

See, get him on the first flight back from the Everglades, okay?

03:18:29 - 03:18:30 | Speaker 5:

He might. He might.

03:18:31 - 03:18:33 | Speaker 1:

All right. We love you. Take care of yourself, Monica.

03:18:33 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 5:

You too. All right. Bye.

03:18:36 - 03:18:49 | Speaker 1:

A couple texters here. Can't talk right now, but my guy's way into his guitar. Another one here, my husband's on the phone or on the computer 24-7. Who are these guys? This is unbelievable.

03:18:49 - 03:18:54 | Speaker 2:

What if he's like a day trader? What's that? What if he's like a day trader? You could take a 20-minute break.

03:18:55 - 03:19:07 | Speaker 1:

Hold on real quick. Speaking of that, Rachel, what is your guy more into than you? Crypto. See? Oh, my God. Getting that money. Is he making any money on crypto?

03:19:07 - 03:19:16 | Speaker 3:

he yes he is making money on crypto really so yes he's on a 24 7 never leaves his computer

03:19:16 - 03:19:20 | Speaker 1:

that's better though than the last guys that we're are you know just hunting and stuff like that you

03:19:20 - 03:19:32 | Speaker 3:

know yeah we do that too but thankfully i do also love to hunt so i'm also probably liking hunting more than him at most times okay all right so you guys go in on it together like

03:19:32 - 03:19:47 | Speaker 1:

if it's making you money i get it it's okay then that's fine he's putting you know he's taking care the family but if the guy's doing it for pleasure and uh all the time though if you're getting turned away all the time there's something wrong yeah what if wes gets so into golf that he stops

03:19:47 - 03:19:52 | Speaker 2:

having sex with you will you be upset last night he was like oh you think tom wants to hit some

03:19:52 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 1:

balls i just i was gonna text him after the show's over with what what what

03:20:00 - 03:20:06 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I know guys that are like, summertime, they don't even care about their wives. All they want to do is golf.

03:20:07 - 03:20:12 | Speaker 3:

I actually told him that the other day. We were talking about it, and I said, you're going to forget about me this summer. I know it.

03:20:12 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 2:

He's going to be serious. He's going to be so golf-intest. Wait until you see him wake up in the morning and be happy about it, because he wants an early tee time. I want to bring this up, because this is going to take place starting tomorrow, but this is a big story trending in Michigan. Starting tomorrow, Michigan parents need to be aware of the new laws regarding child seats and seatbelt use in vehicles, or they may actually face fines. This is an update, by the way, on some of the changes to the car seats, booster seats, and seatbelts, plus the age of the kids that have to be in them. Let me tell you the law, and then I want to find out from you what are your thoughts on this. So if you want to call us up, here's the update, the Michigan Child Passenger Safety Laws. Infants to two years old, a child must be in a rear-facing car seat until they are the maximum height and or weight allowed by the car manufacturer or the child is two years old. Two to five years old, children can switch into facing forward car seats until they reach the maximum weight or height five to eight years old a child can move to a belt position booster seat using the lap and shoulder belt until they're four foot nine inches or eight years old and then this is a big part of this law oh yeah all children under 13 years of age must ride in the rear seat of the car in a vehicle that has a rear seat yeah if

03:21:47 - 03:21:49 | Speaker 3:

If there's a rear seat available, they got to be back there.

03:21:49 - 03:22:08 | Speaker 2:

And if you are somebody that doesn't abide by this law, which I believe the car seat laws things is a big deal. Yeah. Like, I think the kids with the car seat, sometimes people just don't do it. But you're going to face a fine that starts at $65 and could go even higher than that. How old are Smith and Lucy and Josiah? Joe, 12.

03:22:08 - 03:22:23 | Speaker 3:

So, Smith's seven, so he always rides in the back. Lucy's about to be 11, and I do let her ride in the front every once in a while. And so when I told her this, I was like, you are banned to the back until you turn 13. So what do you think? She is not happy about it. But I mean.

03:22:24 - 03:22:29 | Speaker 2:

They obviously must have some kind of a, you know, it's for safety purposes.

03:22:29 - 03:22:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, and I even said to her, it is way safer for you to be in the backseat anyway, Lou. It just is. I know you like being up front, but.

03:22:36 - 03:22:43 | Speaker 1:

When I was younger, I felt like on the visor, there used to be like that little thing. and he used to say 13 years or younger.

03:22:44 - 03:22:44 | Speaker 3:

Did he?

03:22:44 - 03:22:53 | Speaker 1:

I feel like when I was younger, my mom had a car where it like, you know the little thing on the visor was like the little warning in it? I feel like you had that at one point in time. Yeah, I feel like you're right. And then it went away.

03:22:54 - 03:23:34 | Speaker 2:

Kid adults or kiddults. America's adults are buying more toys than preschoolers. In 2024, adults purchased more toys than any other age group, including preschoolers. According to analytics that were just done, 28% of the global toy sales were made by adults. Model kits, clay sculpting, trading cards, miniatures, and Legos were purchased by more adults. Nostalgia has obviously brought this back, but they say that many of these people that are grown-ass adults are playing with toys.

03:23:34 - 03:23:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:23:35 - 03:23:36 | Speaker 2:

Man, oh man.

03:23:36 - 03:23:38 | Speaker 3:

A lot of it's like the collectors and stuff.

03:23:39 - 03:23:50 | Speaker 2:

Legos is obviously a big deal, too. You ever see that you go to like a Lego store and you see the people buying them and you're like, oh, he must be buying it for his kid. And you realize that thing's got too many pieces for him.

03:23:50 - 03:23:52 | Speaker 3:

He's not his own Lego membership. He's going home.

03:23:52 - 03:24:31 | Speaker 2:

By the way, the topic that we just did of my husband plays with, you know, this more than that. If your husband's out there building Legos more than, okay, I'm not judging. Yes, you are. Especially if you're an alligator hunter. I'm worried that that guy, Chris, is coming to kill me. And this is a big story. Adults sleeping with stuffed animals. Many people have held on to their stuffed animals from their childhood, and many people have brought in new ones. Mental health experts are saying that more and more adults are purchasing stuffed animals and sleeping with stuffed animals. So stuffed animals have become a big deal for adults.

03:24:31 - 03:24:53 | Speaker 3:

This jelly cat brand, I've talked about this before, is very, very popular with adults right now. And you can go to different cities and there are jelly cat diners where you can have experiences with the stuffed animals. And they're not cheap, but there are a range of sizes and characters. And that's like a big, big thing right now.

03:24:53 - 03:24:59 | Speaker 2:

I think that if you're an adult that sleeps with a stuffed animal, you should also have to sit in the backseat.

03:25:00 - 03:25:16 | Speaker 9:

I mean, you should not be allowed in the front seat. What's more weird, that or Lydia going to Chicago and eating with the American dog? Oh, no, no. That's the weirdest one. Remember that? That was amazing. Lydia and her American girl lunch with her friend.

03:25:16 - 03:25:17 | Speaker 5:

And I would do it again.

03:25:19 - 03:25:46 | Speaker 9:

We've all seen the headlines. Florida man wrestles alligator in a tuxedo or Florida man sues after finding toenails in his ice cream.

03:26:29 - 03:26:33 | Speaker 3:

It's easy to laugh at the meme, but have you ever wondered about the human behind the headline?

03:26:33 - 03:26:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm Frankie P.

03:26:34 - 03:26:39 | Speaker 3:

And I'm Amelia. On our podcast, Hidden Florida and Beyond, we're going beneath the surface of the sunshine state.

From interviews with real people who make Florida weird. I'm pulling it up and as I'm pulling it up, I see an arm. Stop it. Come down.

Here at the Happiness Lab, we're serving up some hot takes for the summer. Big ideas that just might reshape how you think about your well-being. Like the radical notion that we should get rid of small talk completely.

03:27:17 - 03:27:22 | Speaker 8:

We talk about current events. We talk about what you do for a living. But not, do you love what you do for a living? Is this your dream job?

03:27:23 - 03:27:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm Mange Shatikular, and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

03:27:56 - 03:28:01 | Speaker 1:

I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.
