We'll be right back.

00:02:59 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 6:

Guess who's back Back again Megan's back Tell a friend Guess who's back Guess who's back Guess who's back Guess who's back Guess who's back

00:03:24 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 3:

Turns out I'm gonna go home No, you're not going in Reggie's back, everybody. Hi, man, I love you. Honestly, you look like crap. I feel like crap. I love you, but you look like crap.

00:03:39 - 00:03:40 | Unknown:

I do look like crap.

00:03:40 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you, I woke up very, very sweaty, and I was like, need to take a shower? That's all I have time for. You're welcome.

00:03:47 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 7:

Did you take a shower at all from the moment that you started getting sick? Because when did you start getting sick?

00:03:53 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 3:

I started getting sick at, like, noon-ish on Sunday. Middle of the day on Sunday, and I thought, oh, this is the Sunday scaries. Like, it's fine. It's just the Sunday scaries. Turns out, nope, full-blown sinus infection cold.

00:04:07 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 7:

It's the worst.

00:04:09 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 3:

It really is. Well, at first, I thought I had strep. I remember I texted you, and I took photos as proof of my throat because I thought people would not believe me. And it turns out. Y'all sort of throat pics? Right, right. I really, truly want to go back home. I truly.

00:04:26 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 7:

That kind of took me by surprise.

00:04:28 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 3:

It didn't. We're talking about being sick. By the way, I have them in my secret folder. I don't have it in me to put up with a sexual innuendos five minutes into the day. I don't have it. I don't want to be back if that's how it's going to start. I don't want it. I don't need it. I'd rather go back to bed. So, yeah, no, it all started on Sunday, and then it just got worse from there, I guess. Yeah.

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

I'm happy to know that you got sick when you were in Toledo So you did spend time

00:05:00 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

at least your family there for you, because I feel bad. It's, it sucks. I remember, I remember when, even, I mean, even though the drive is close and everything's, you know, we got all of us and stuff. But I remember when I moved to Arizona from Chicago, the first time that I got sick and I was not home, like with family and stuff like that. And you don't know where to go. Like you don't know, you know, or who's going to come over and stuff. Like I was so coddled by my sisters.

00:05:25 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you're a boy. I mean, just be a girl, even when I'm close to family. I'm the only girl. Nobody's taking care of me. And nobody was taking care of you? Nobody was taking care of me.

00:05:34 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 1:

Scott Mick's like, oh, it's Monday.

00:05:37 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, at one point, he'll be like, do you need me to bring you anything? I'm not having you drive an hour and a half when I live two blocks from a CVS. Did I walk to CVS yesterday at 9 in the morning in the clothes that I had slept in? Yes, of course I did.

00:05:49 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes, of course. You know what's crazy is that DoorDash makes it so easy that I have actually DoorDashed like a little bottle of aspirin or Motrin or whatever. Like back in the day, like you had to go in sick.

00:06:05 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

That delivery fee is out of hand. I saw the delivery fee was going to be more than me walking two blocks to go pick it up for the actual order itself. And I was like, I cannot justify paying somebody to walk this one block over. I live one block from the CBS downtown.

00:06:22 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 1:

You almost want to have like the, and I don't know if anybody's ever done this with the DoorDash, but if you could have the DoorDasher justify it by saying, can you stop at CVS, and then can you stop at Steve's Deli getting me a chicken noodle soup? You know what I mean?

00:06:34 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

There should be a package, a sick package, where it doesn't cost anything extra to go to a few different places.

00:06:39 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 1:

I'd like a Starbucks medicine ball. I mean, I just want a whole bunch of that stuff.

00:06:43 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

I just tried to order one. You cannot order them on DoorDash. I'm pissed right now. I'm so pissed. I'm unprepared for today.

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they need to have it. I think you can order it, but you have to just put all this stuff in yourself.

00:06:54 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

It's a honey citrus mint tea, and they will not let you order it. Oh, really? I just tried. That's crazy. It makes me so angry.

00:07:01 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

You do have one thing that will make you feel better today. What's that? Ricola. I do. I can see those right over there.

00:07:07 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 2:

Do you know how expensive these bad boys are now, too? I used to eat them like candy. Now I eat them like medicine. Oh, you don't eat the Ricola's like candy. It's the Ludens. Ludens are the best. Oh, they're both pretty good.

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

We used to, when we were kids, that was the only thing that we could have in class that was considered candy, because the teachers wouldn't let us have candy.

00:07:22 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 2:

Do you know what sugar-free was right next to this? And I went, in this economy when I'm sick? I'm not getting sugar-free when I'm sick.

00:07:30 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 1:

Man. You know who was asking about you yesterday was Gina, the cleaning lady.

00:07:35 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

I love her. She yelled at me. What? She is so ride or die for you. It's not even funny. Hello, everybody. It's the weekend, bitches. Well, I was sitting in here the other day, and she was cleaning up. She was going through. She was cleaning everything. And there was a mess over where you sit, Mojo. And I forget what I had said. I had said something along the lines of that mojo, always a problem, right, Gina? And she put down her cleaning supplies and looked at me and she goes, don't you ever say mojo is the problem ever. We should all be grateful for him. And we are so lucky to have him. And I went, Gina, it was a joke. And she looked at me and she was like, don't you ever call him. I thought she was going to take a bullet for you.

00:08:18 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

She is a member of the East Side Mafia. You do not mess with Gina the Cleaning Lady.

00:08:25 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you, I always thought she was the sweetest lady in the entire world, and I saw a different side of her that was quite scary.

00:08:32 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

That's her mafia name, the Cleaning Lady. You know when I realized how great Gina the Cleaning Lady was? When Gina the Cleaning Lady, one time I came into the studio in the afternoon, this was way back when, when Bo and DeVita were doing the afternoon show, and she is literally standing on top of the control board, And she is up and dusting the ceiling, and I'm like, this lady is going to kill herself.

00:08:54 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

But only by you. Only where you are, the rest of us are sitting in films. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Everywhere else is dirty. I'm going to slip her money or something, because it is quite dusty.

00:09:05 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes, well, you know what? My favorite is the bathroom situation here at the studios, which I vowed that I was not going to talk about it after break, but I'll talk about this. she says she comes up to me and she goes she goes mojo they only put two stalls in there like just so how do you go to the bathroom i go gina i'm telling you poor design but i don't know but um well let's welcome megan back guys uh where you at 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number megan said that she was worried that she was going to be thought of as faking sick yeah Because she called in sick on a Monday, right?

00:09:46 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think any time you take out, like, a Monday or a Friday, everybody goes, oh, sure. Yeah. But you never call off, I feel like. No. I never do. I hate calling off. I feel so far behind. I feel more stressed out today than if I would have just came in. Why?

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

And I know how I knew you were sick, by the way, like really sick, because when I texted you every morning to make sure you were OK, you texted me back.

00:10:07 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:10:07 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 5:

Something's wrong when you text right back.

00:10:10 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 1:

I was worried about her yesterday. I called her. She didn't pick up. And then I left her a message. And then this morning I didn't hear from her. Text her. Didn't hear for a while until I just saw the message just a little bit ago that she I guess she was pulling out of the parking lot. But I was like, she might be at home dead.

00:10:25 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 3:

No, I feel so bad. Like I'm behind.

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 1:

This might be Anna Nicole Smith or something.

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:10:31 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 1:

You know what I'm talking about, right?

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

Who Nicole Smith is? No.

00:10:35 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember? They found her in her place by herself. Do you remember that?

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 5:

It wasn't her place. It was the Hard Rock Hotel.

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 1:

The Hard Rock Hotel. The hotel.

00:10:44 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 5:

I was there when it happened. That's how I remember so vividly. Yes. That's wild. Doing a broadcast for the radio station I worked at. Did you see like just police running in, cameras and all of that? Yeah. I mean, yes. But yeah. Dang. RIP out of Nicole Smith.

00:10:58 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

I was worried about you. I was, I seriously, I was like going to do, I, that's the thing. I was like thinking who does well checks at your apartment that we can figure out? Is there anybody there? Is there somebody? No.

00:11:10 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Y'all just have to be sad and scared for a little bit.

00:11:13 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

There's got, you got to have a well checker. Like we all need to have like the person that's the well checker. Would your dog know what to do?

00:11:19 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

My dog doesn't live with me most of the time.

00:11:22 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:22 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 3:

She'd eat you if you were dead. For sure.

00:11:25 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 1:

Did you really honestly think there's no way?

00:11:27 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 3:

Dude, dogs started eating you after, like, 24 hours. Really? That's been funny. Yes.

00:11:30 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Would it be, like, the Gene Hackman thing? That's where my mind went. But their dog was dead.

00:11:36 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 3:

No, they had the other two. That's right. I think the other two were alive because they were eating them.

00:11:41 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 1:

Ooh. It'd be meh. The interesting thing is that I wouldn't want to bother you, though. Like, that's the other thing, too. It's like, I think if I didn't hear from you by maybe Friday, I would probably say something. I would probably go. You better go to a full week. But that is also, Shannon brings up a really good point. Megan doesn't return our messages, and it's so normal that I wouldn't think anything was different. You know what I mean?

00:12:06 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 5:

But when she responds right away, you're going, oh, God.

00:12:09 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Somebody has her phone.

00:12:10 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 5:

This is the end?

00:12:13 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

She's been kidnapped, and it's the abductors. Here, hold on a second.

00:12:18 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 3:

The punctuation was so bad. The grammar was still lacking. That's how you know it's me. If there's not a random capital letter.

00:12:25 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, Abductor, what is Chappell-Rone's real name? If you don't answer in five seconds, I'm not going to. What's going on, Marnie? How you doing?

00:12:34 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. Welcome back, Megan. Good to hear your voice. Thanks. Do you think I could take one more day? Just one more. Look, so at Starbucks, because I get the medicine ball also when I'm down, I know I have to, like, order it physically once, And then after that, I can go in and just order it online.

00:12:58 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 1:

That's a great, on your app, we'll save it. Hold on.

00:13:01 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we love a loophole.

00:13:03 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 1:

Marnie, that is a Starbucks hack. We needed it this morning. You gave it to us. We love you for that.

00:13:10 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Oh, I love you guys.

00:13:13 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Marnie. We'll talk to you.

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome.

00:13:15 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 1:

Have a great day. What's up, Kylie? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

00:13:20 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay, first of all, welcome back, Megan. We miss you, always. You're welcome. And, Shannon, you can't just skip that over. You got to fill the T. You can't gatekeep that.

00:13:30 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 1:

What's the heck? The Anna Nicole Smith story? Is that what you're talking about? Yeah.

00:13:35 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. So this was the Hard Rock Hotel down in Hollywood, Florida. Right? It was a Florida one. Yeah. And we were there. I was with my old morning show. It was called The Morning Mess, and we were there for a broadcast for something. I can't remember. And that happened, which was crazy. I mean, I didn't see her being wheeled out on a stretcher or anything like that, but there was a ton of media there, and everybody knew what had happened.

00:14:00 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 2:

I like my body. And if I ever record an album, I want this guy to produce my, make me beautiful duet.

00:14:13 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 5:

I want to say we were there for the Super Bowl that year. Really? And we ended up tacking on a few days before or a few days after. I can't remember if she died before or after.

00:14:22 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

It was, I think, yeah. The Super Bowl.

00:14:23 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 5:

But that's why we were there. We were broadcasting from that hotel, and she died.

00:14:30 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 1:

That's crazy. If you knew that she died and you were on the same floor as hers, would you go by, like the Whitney thing? Remember, people, if they said people were trying to take pictures of Whitney's hotel room door?

00:14:41 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 5:

At the Beverly Hilton.

00:14:42 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because they knew that she drowned in the pool.

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 5:

I thought she died at home. In the bathtub.

00:14:47 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 1:

No. Who, Whitney?

00:14:48 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 3:

No, Whitney.

00:14:49 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 1:

No, she was in the hotel bathtub.

00:14:51 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:14:52 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

But I swear to you, like, I don't know, this is weird, Kylie. I would go on a celebrity morbid tour of the...

00:15:00 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 3:

where the celebrities died wouldn't you like i've seen i i have one i saw the princess diana uh tunnel i uh when we went over to uh to paris which was pretty freaking cool honestly i was more excited about that than chelsea making us all have to go see the smallest little picture

00:15:16 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 5:

ever of the mona lisa what are you you just look at the tunnel i we drove through it like we actually

00:15:23 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 3:

did we did the route uh from where she was the hotel that she walked the spinning doors those you know those doors that they have in hotels yeah revolving doors and then we got into our car which we had an Uber that was there and I said hey can you drive us through we just wanted to see where it was and we drove through and it was literally no different than driving through the tunnel down the street from the radio station here over the overpass

00:15:44 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 4:

but you get a weird feeling you get a weird feeling when you pass by that spot

00:15:48 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 3:

you see how it is that if you have all these cars following her how they could get into an accident because it was just so crazy well alright we're at full strength Good to have Megan back. Good to have everybody here. We've got a great show for you. We're going to give you five lies to tell your mom. We've got a second date update coming up this morning. Right now, we'll give you a chance to win tickets to see Nelly Ja Rule. Who else is in this thing? Shang-y on that thing. Shang-y.

00:16:13 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 2:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in 10. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:21 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 3:

It was the year that Bob Barker had his final show on The Price is Right.

00:16:25 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 1:

I want to thank you very, very much for inviting me into your home for the last 50 years. I am deeply grateful. And please remember, help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered. Goodbye, everybody.

00:16:43 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 3:

Chris Rock and Kevin Hart starred in Death at a Funeral.

00:16:47 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 4:

Sheldon, I'm not ready to have a baby. Oh, yes, you are. I track your cycle. For the next 30 seconds.

00:16:53 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hold on a second. This is a different movie.

00:16:55 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 4:

Manure-covered wheat field. It's the year the Big Bang Theory premiered.

00:16:58 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the Big Bang Theory. Okay, for some reason I had a different. Oh, you know what? I screwed up. I read from the wrong script here. The Big Bang Theory premiered. And the big song.

00:17:09 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 2:

It was 1989. My thoughts were short.

00:17:13 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 3:

From Kid Rock. All summer long. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize good ticket throwback show. It's our Mojo in the Morning throwback show happening at Pine Knob this summer.

00:17:25 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 2:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:44 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 3:

All right, it was your Bob Barker said goodbye.

00:17:46 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 1:

I want to thank you very, very much.

00:17:49 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

And have your pets spayed and neutered.

00:17:52 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 1:

The last 50 years.

00:17:54 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 3:

The Big Bang Theory.

00:17:56 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 4:

Sheldon, I'm not ready to have a baby. Oh, yes, you are. I track your cycle.

00:18:02 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 3:

I've never seen an episode. Is it good?

00:18:04 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen it, but I loved young Sheldon.

00:18:07 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Do you have to watch The Big Bang Theory to know young Sheldon?

00:18:10 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

I've never seen an episode of Big Bang.

00:18:12 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 3:

And the big song, All Summer Long, Tandy. What year was that?

00:18:20 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 5:

00:18:36 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 3:

Chingy. Eve. Pine Knob on August the 9th. That's a show. Tandy, think of the era of that, okay? Think of early 2000s and Nelly and Chingy and Eve.

00:18:48 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 5:

High school. That was the best. I was like going into high school and all that good stuff.

00:18:52 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Where'd you go to school? Shout out your high school.

00:18:55 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 5:

00:19:00 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 5:

GPS alumni. Come on, huh?

00:19:01 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 3:

You guys went to the fun school. We all went to the school with reading, writing, and arithmetic. What did you guys do all day? Did you guys just sing all day, or what did you guys do? Draw?

00:19:11 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 5:

No, but I went to a media art school, so they did radio broadcasts and things like that. Have you ever been in our studio before? I did, but they did. I haven't.

00:19:20 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

Come in. Lydia, talk to her. And Tandy, I don't know. It says you're from Southfield. That's not that far. I am. You're probably 15 minutes or 20 minutes away from us, okay? Okay. Come in on a Friday or whenever you can, and you can see the studios here. We'd love to have you.

00:19:36 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 5:

Perfect. Thank you. Thank you, guys. You got to do the chicken head, though, when you come in.

00:19:41 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 3:

What is that? Oh, I will. I will.

00:19:43 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 5:

I'll start practicing.

00:19:44 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 3:

You never heard of the chicken head? I've never heard of the chicken head. Bruh. What is that?

00:19:48 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 5:

That's like the Chingy vibe. Oh, is that from that area? Yeah, throw a little hill to it.

00:19:54 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 3:

I got the bomb-ass tune. What? I got the bomb-ass tune. Isn't that the Chingy song? No, girl, what version is that?

00:20:02 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 4:

At the Holiday Inn.

00:20:04 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay, there we go. Not that one, not that one.

00:20:05 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 4:

At the Holiday Inn. What was the Luda saying? Snap back. Cut. Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going. Mr. Luda Chris, call me Mr. Whipple or something like that.

00:20:18 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 3:

Call me Mr. Whipple.

00:20:20 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:20:20 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm with you. All right.

00:20:22 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 4:

00:20:51 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 5:

Really, really sad news to wake up to this morning. Val Kilmer, who played Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever, channeled Jim Morrison in The Doors, and starred as Doc Holliday in Tombstone. He was also actually just in Top Gun Maverick a couple of years ago, reprising his role as Iceman. He passed away yesterday in LA.

00:21:10 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 1:

The kid needs Maverick. That's why I fought for you. That's why you're still here.

00:21:18 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 5:

Only 65 years old. His daughter, Mercedes, said the official cause of death was pneumonia, but we know he had been battling throat cancer. for several years and you know i i think top gun maverick please correct me if i'm wrong was his last movie and it was kind of a surprise to everybody that he was even in that because he really kind of went away from hollywood after his diagnosis lived on a ranch in new mexico spent his time painting and he also helped oversee theater programs for high school students which was really cool but just so darn sad he had throat cancer and had to have throat surgery

00:21:52 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 4:

back in the mid-2000s. He had a trach. And because of that, it caused for permanent damage. In any movie that he was in, after his throat cancer, they had to have people overdub for him because he couldn't speak. But there was many people that rumored that his long smoking gave him that. But then a lot of people rumored, and this is the story I was going to tell is Shannon off the air, but I was like, save it for the air. A lot of people rumored that he was just like Michael Douglas and got throat cancer from oral, getting oral.

00:22:28 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 5:

Really? That can happen?

00:22:30 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that you can get a form of cancer from performing.

00:22:34 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it makes sense.

00:22:36 - 00:22:37 | Speaker 4:

No, it doesn't. Yes, it does.

00:22:37 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 5:

It absolutely does make sense. How does it make sense? Well, it's a sexually transmitted disease, and if you're doing that as part of having sex.

00:22:45 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying? What does that person have to have in order for you to get throat cancer? It's TV, right?

00:22:50 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so. I got to Google this. By the way, this is the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, remind you. Wow. Yeah. What? Yeah, Bell Kilmer.

00:23:02 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 3:

It's the leading risk factor for throat cancer?

00:23:05 - 00:23:05 | Unknown:

Mm-hmm.

00:23:05 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 3:

Bro. That's great, Kenny. He couldn't get no more.

00:23:09 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 5:

Go to the next story. Ain't nothing safe. I don't trust you.

00:23:12 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 3:

Ain't nothing safe.

00:23:13 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 5:

Jennifer Lawrence is a mama again. She has welcomed her second child with her husband, Cook Moroney. They're keeping everything quiet as they normally do. So we don't know the sex name or birth date, but the little one joins Big Brother Cy. So big congrats to them. I don't know why. And Kev, maybe you can shed some light on this because you're the Kanye fan on the show. But loud and proud. Today's Kanye West story. He's starting a beef with J. Cole. It looks like on X. Come on. Everybody can get it. On X, he claimed that people stop listening to J. Cole after they lose their virginity. What?

00:23:45 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 3:

That's all. Wait, wait, wait. Him and J. Cole have had a beef for years. This is an ongoing thing. Oh, is it? Yeah. Okay, so I didn't know that.

00:23:53 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 5:

I saw the tweet, and I was like, okay, it literally said, no one listens to J. Cole after losing their virginity. He spelled losing wrong. Losing. Losing. After losing their virginity.

00:24:04 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 3:

Is J. Cole also from Chicago, too? No, J. Cole is from Fayetteville, North Carolina.

00:24:08 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right, because I didn't know if there was a Chicago thing with those two guys, but that's interesting that he would say that.

00:24:14 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 2:

They go back and forth a lot.

00:24:16 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Police in Australia, man, Mojota, you called this yesterday, seem to have some doubts that Jeffrey Epstein victim, Virginia Jufri, has quote-unquote days to live after that bus accident that she was involved in last week. A police spokesperson coming out to say, yeah, we received a report of a minor crash between a bus and a car. The vehicle reportedly sustained about $1,000 in damages, and there were no reported injuries as a result of the crash. Yet, Virginia posted that photo where she's badly bruised and said at the time that she had about four days left to live and was suffering from kidney renal failure. This is the one who came forward, remember, and accused Prince.

00:25:00 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 4:

Andrew of raping her and sex trafficking. The acting police commissioner involved in this also said nobody was taken to the hospital from the scene and doubled down on the fact that no serious injuries were sustained. So what gives? Virginia's family members said she remains in serious condition. So two very, very different stories here. And lastly, NFL team owners voted to modify replay kickoff and overtime rules while tabling discussions about a potential ban of the tush push at their annual meeting yesterday owners also agreed to postpone discussions on changes to on-site kicks and playoff seating i know a proposal from the lions calling to eliminate automatic first downs as penalties imposed for defensive holding and illegal contact that failed to pass but that tush push ban which i know was the biggie will be discussed again at the league's main meeting in Minneapolis. The other big

00:25:53 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 3:

one is that they're not going to use the chains to show you if they got a first down. So if they doubt that that's the case, they're going to go to technology like they do in the... Is it tennis? No, the USFL or whatever it is now does it. What's the league that's playing? That was right, the USFL. So they do it that way. So they basically do it based on a line and based on computer. But they'll still have the chains there just for players to know where they have to get to so but that tush push thing you know they say that it's too much of a rugby type of a play and there's so many people divided on that i think it's more than green bay packers they're just the only ones that are vocal enough to complain about it nobody wants to play against bro they're just mad they can't stop it speaking of the tush push hold on a second here now actually amanda what were you calling about i was calling a comment about poor

00:26:44 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 2:

Val Kilmer and you guys were discussing about HPV and Megan is absolutely right. HPV in men can cause head and neck cancers. Oh, okay. It can cause cervical cancer. Yeah. So a Gardasil was so important for boys to get and a lot of boys didn't get it. Absolutely. Absolutely. Everyone should

00:27:03 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 3:

get it. Uh, sad, sad news, uh, to see that, to see the, uh, the Val Kilmer death. Thank you for

00:27:08 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 2:

the call, Amanda. I appreciate it. You're 45, by the way. So if you're not, if you're under 45 and haven't gotten it go get it thank you for the call appreciate you hey for all of today's dirty

00:27:17 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 4:

if you missed anything you can catch up by listening to the podcast just search mojo in

00:27:21 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 1:

the morning in the free iheart radio app go celebrity dirt directly from the source it's mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 spring break more like spring broke this is mojo in the morning

00:27:43 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning we talked about this uh late yesterday in the show but today is the day that if you have kids you got to have your kids properly put in your car like whether it be kids with the car seats or this is a big one kids who are 13 years of age or younger cannot sit in the front seat you cannot have them in the front seat or you can get pulled over and ticketed Which, by the way, would be very interesting because I was, when I was 13 years old, looking like I was 27 years old.

00:28:20 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Nobody would be pulling your mom or dad over.

00:28:23 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 3:

And I had a big bush underneath both of my armpits. So when my mom got it pulled over, she would have said to the police officer, said, Mr. Police Officer, that's my husband. It would have been that bad. But I wonder how this is going to be with some people today, if they're going to get pulled over. And if you're a cop, you'll have to tell us, like, what is, you know, your particular police department going to do? I heard also this is going on, too. I heard that this is for Michigan. I heard that it's National Car Safety or something. Distracted driving. Distracted driving. And they are going to be out there in full force talking, you know, to people and pulling you over and giving you tickets if you are seen with your phone in your hand.

00:29:08 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 4:

Tickets and community service. Wow. So I'm not trying to do that, bro.

00:29:12 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 3:

That's what they're going to be dishing out. Community service for that?

00:29:15 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 4:

And or points on your record. It just keeps escalating. Man. Yeah, there's three consequences. You can tell mom. There are three consequences for your actions if you are using your phone or doing something that's distracting you.

00:29:27 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 3:

I don't want the community service part. That's the part that would be crazy. When you get pulled over, right, and the police officer asks you, how is that child? It's just based on the honor system, right?

00:29:38 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 4:

But you don't want to lie in front of your In front of Josiah

00:29:42 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Which by the way every parent has done My mom for sure told me to fake asthma attack Lydia we gotta ask the question What did you tell your kid that they had to lie about Because this would be interesting

00:30:00 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 2:

to see how many people have done the because kids eat free or cedar point yeah 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 you got to call us up and tell us if you're uh your mom ever in your life whether you're an adult now or you're currently uh a parent if you ever made your kid lie about something because that would be damn funny um also has anybody ever been pulled over for the uh the phone thing because they say that it actually has led to safer situations where there's been less accidents since they put that law into effect but I

00:30:36 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 6:

still have not heard of anybody I know somebody who's been pulled over twice and let me tell you how expensive that ticket is on this on the second time

00:30:43 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

around you're kidding me they just didn't learn the first time or what's the story I didn't care really yeah all right eight four four Mojo live how good

00:37:16 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live. Mojo in the Morning Show. I love the parents that made their kids lie. Jill, are you there?

00:37:39 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm here. Good morning. Good morning.

00:37:42 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 2:

Jill, was this a lie that your mom made you do or you made a kid do?

00:37:48 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 4:

That my mom made me do about 20-some years ago.

00:37:51 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. I love it. So we're just talking and having conversation about how they're going to be able to decide whether a kid's 13 years old sitting in the front seat of the car with this new Michigan law. What was the lie that your mom told you that you had to do?

00:38:07 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 4:

I had many free meals from the Las Vegas buffets saying that I was about eight years old when I was probably 12 or 13 years old.

00:38:15 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. So what would mom do? Like, would she give you the pep talk ahead of time?

00:38:20 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 4:

yeah like if they ask you how old you are you know just say you're eight years old because of course like naturally i'd be like i'm 12 yeah but did you did you ever they ask you yeah you're

00:38:32 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 2:

right did you ever as a kid though uh sit there and go oh god this is too much pressure on me

00:38:38 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 4:

like i'm gonna get caught or something's gonna happen right yeah like oh if they do ask you know like i said naturally you're gonna say your regular age but i don't think they ever asked the

00:38:46 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 1:

child or later in life when your parents are like don't lie don't lie to me i know you're lying and you go you told me to lie in vegas remember exactly unless it's the buffet line you taught me that

00:38:59 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 2:

thanks for the call uh jill appreciate it what's up kyla hey so i ended up getting pulled over for

00:39:06 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 3:

uh a ticket or having my phone in my hand and all i did was move it from my lap

00:39:10 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 2:

to the seat next to me really so so they actually pulled you over and it was just you picking it up

00:39:18 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

and moving it but it was that quick of a time or did you do that once the lights came on literally i was taking a u-turn and my phone was sliding so i picked it up and put it in my hand as i was turning it setting it down and he caught me with it in my hand as i was going to put it

00:39:34 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 2:

down oh my god that's crazy i know you got to be you got to be careful but it is hands-free right that's what they tell you yeah yeah for sure hey thank you for the call i appreciate it appreciate you all right we'll see you so uh lydia got a couple of texts but they won't go on the air with us uh which one is it lydia that do you want me to read there is the text

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

that says one time my mom got pulled over and my

00:39:59 - 00:40:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:40:00 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 3:

brother and I were in the backseat and she said to act like we were blind and she told the cop that we just found out we were both blind to get out of the ticket.

00:40:07 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

Act like you're blind? That's crazy. I wonder how they did it. And then I love this one too, 734. We told my daughter to lie so that she could get in free at Disney World. She was very tall for four years old, crammed in a stroller with a two-year-old. Oh, they had props.

00:40:30 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. They had props.

00:40:32 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 1:

I love that. I always love the people, too. Do you ever see on airplanes where people on airplanes will cram two dogs in a carrier? No. So that they don't see it?

00:40:41 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:40:42 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. They'll cram. And you'll be like, oh, let me see your dog. They're like, no, don't look at my dog. They don't like the thing. Well, don't look at my dogs is probably more so. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:40:53 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five, three, four, five.

00:40:56 - 00:40:57 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:40:57 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mama.

00:41:00 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Julia. Hi. It's five lies to tell your mom. How are you doing, Julia?

00:41:07 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. I'm nervous.

00:41:09 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Don't be nervous. This is only your relationship forever with your mom.

00:41:14 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 3:

I stay messing with her.

00:41:15 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 1:

Is your mom the type of person that will be mad? Like, will she hold a grudge?

00:41:20 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 3:

No, she's not going to hold a grudge. She actually loves your guys' show.

00:41:23 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, let's see what happens.

00:41:25 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 3:

She loves your guys' radio station.

00:41:27 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 1:

We're going to have fun with your mom here. five lies to tell your mom. You're 22. Are you fun? Are you a lot of fun? I'm always getting

00:41:38 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 3:

into something. I'm a little crazy. I've settled down more recently, but. All right. We're going

00:41:43 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 1:

to get the energy back in you. Here we go. These are lies. We made them up. Five lies. Lie number one. You're going to say, mom, I did a nude photo shoot. Lie number two. Say I was talking to that

00:41:56 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 2:

cute guy at work.

00:41:57 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three. I sent him the pictures a while ago. Lie number four.

00:42:02 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

We got into an argument, and now he wants to leak those pictures.

00:42:06 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 1:

And finally, lie number five. Can we crop your head on these and try to make it say that it was you? Do you and your mom look alike?

00:42:19 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 3:

So not really, but me and Bianca were going to say that, but I'm just going to be panicked and frantic and be like, well, I mean, no one's ever seen you. Like, I don't know. Like, I had this idea.

00:42:29 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I like it. She's an actress.

00:42:31 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, you have to. My friend Kim, like, I don't know, Mom.

00:42:34 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. She's good.

00:42:36 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, you have to make sure you're a really good actress if your mom listens to the show. Yeah. So she doesn't know that it's a five lies.

00:42:41 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 1:

Here we go. We're going to call up your mom for five lies to tell your mom.

00:42:53 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 3:

00:44:04 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 3:

met. Well, we got into a fight and he's trying to lead them. Okay. Well, I was talking to Tim and he was like, maybe we could try to like put your mom's face on them or like Kim's face and just say it was them. What guy at work? The guy I work with that's trying to lead them. You work with where? At the neuro rehab. Like, do you think I could just, like, put your face on them and say it's you? I mean, no one's ever seen you.

00:44:41 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm good with, like, folks. Take some fake face and put on there. Tell the guy if he leaks them, you're going to sue him.

00:44:49 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I'm just panicking, and then everyone thinks I should put your face on them and blame you.

00:44:54 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 4:

No, you're not putting my face on them.

00:44:57 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Let's put a stranger.

00:45:00 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 2:

space on them you already sent them to them so how are you going to change them i'm just going to be like this is the picture he's talking about it's not me well is your face showing in the picture i mean like yeah basically that's what i thought why would you send anybody those kind of pictures of yourself i was knowing i didn't think i was modeling i didn't think it was a big deal i didn't know that you're getting all your money from i mean no i really didn't even make anything and now it's causing all these problems you didn't make anything but you let somebody take new photos of you come on julia it's like a modeling thing mom that ain't a modeling get out there yeah no you don't need to get out there like that hey mom

00:45:49 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 3:

00:45:55 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 1:

are you kidding me delayed response julia julia had you on five lies to tell your mom

00:46:14 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, shit, you guys got me good. Oh, dear. I didn't kill you, girl. Mom, were you mad?

00:46:28 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, your mom was mad. Yeah, I was mad. Hey, by the way, where are you getting all this money, Julia?

00:46:33 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 2:

That's my question, too. I want to know. I work two jobs, and I have a business.

00:46:38 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right.

00:46:39 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

She's a hardworking girl. She does work a lot. She's been buying a lot of things lately and running around talking about V. She's always broke, but she's ordered from Amazon every other day.

00:46:49 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jesus, man. This business isn't OnlyFans, is it? Yeah, wait a second. Maybe this is too close to home. No. Mom, what would we...

00:46:59 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 2:

Talking about I'm broke, but you're ordering shit that you don't need when you ain't broke. That's a mom, by the way.

00:47:05 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Mom, would you kill her if she started doing nudes?

00:47:09 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, a real modeling company is not going to ask you to do nudes. It's not modeling. It's going to take advantage of somebody.

00:47:15 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. Mom, we understand that you're a fan of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Is that true?

00:47:20 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes, I am. I love it. I mentioned it yesterday or this morning or last night.

00:47:28 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that amazing that even our biggest listeners can fall for it? Five lies. Your daughter's an actress. That's unbelievable. You're a really good actress, Julia.

00:47:39 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, well, I never know with her because she's, like I said, she does, she's got a lot of side things going. She sells things, and she thrifts, and, you know, she has the full-time job. She has another part-time job, but she's always doing something.

00:47:53 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 3:

And she won you a prize. How great of a daughter is that?

00:47:57 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Yay, what prize did I win?

00:47:59 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 3:

You got nudes, yes. Of Mojo. Of me, I'll say that.

00:48:04 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 2:

With my face on that. I love it.

00:48:07 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings.

00:48:10 - 00:48:10 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:48:11 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama. This is President Donald Trump, and thanks to Mojo, I'm putting a tariff on people that pretend to listen to the conversation they're having. I'm going to bankrupt Mojo in a day. One day.

00:48:29 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 3:

Stop it. All right, Mojo in the morning. We are on the iHeartRadio app, but you can listen to us anywhere. 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM, and of course, flagship Channel 955 in Detroit. Good to have you guys here with us. Kevin says that he has started to notice something very, very interesting about women these days. And I don't know if you know this, but Kev broke up from a relationship. And he broke up probably, what, about a year ago or something? Yeah, basically. Almost. almost a year ago announced it to us after a few months of just kind of keeping it to himself, and then now has been all over town. That's not true. Don't make me sound like I'm some floozy, some player. You're not a player, but you're a player maker. What does that mean? I don't know what that means. But I can't even keep up with it, Shannon. Don't do that.

00:49:30 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

I actually am keeping up. I have a spreadsheet. If you want to, I'll share.

00:49:35 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 3:

Is it like the brackets, the NCAA March Madness brackets?

00:49:39 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 1:

No, it's a little different than that. But all the info is on there.

00:49:42 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

All right. Aghacity. But this is good, though, because he's been doing some research. And it's for a project for the University of Michigan. They're going to be putting this out coming up here. This is helping you research. Their sociology department. Now, what have you noticed about women? I feel like women these days are...

00:50:00 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 2:

vocally celibate like i have had conversations with three different women who say that they are saving themselves for marriage or are saving themselves for their person and i don't know if it's like the age that i'm at right now and the age of these women because they all around the same age how old are these women they like in their 30s okay like but having casual sex so to speak or having the interest of another person and wanting that to be explored sexually is something that they want to do but they they aren't doing it like they locking it down and

00:50:38 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 3:

saying i'm waiting they're saving the cookies they're not baking cookies until they find the the guy uh until they get married yeah okay that's good is that a good thing are you not happy about

00:50:49 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

that i'm not happy about it it's just i feel like it's happening a lot now okay like it used to and i'm not gonna say it used to never be like that and like you mentioned i wasn't out here really like that so i don't know if it's been like this for years i just feel like i'm having more conversations where women are starting to enter these celibate let's ask them that's that's our

00:51:07 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 3:

big listening audience right there so let's ask them you know is that the case uh are you uh are you doing this uh megan you're in that that age demographic are you i just feel like there's no

00:51:18 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 4:

winning for women we even talked about it earlier when we were talking about hpv and it leading to throat cancer and it was like oh you got to be careful who you're choosing to sleep with and then women choose to be careful and it's well nobody wants to sleep with me or women are sleeping around and it's well she just sleeps with anybody i just feel like there's no winning

00:51:34 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 2:

but what about the celebrity i didn't come off a lot hopefully i think the age thing though

00:51:39 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 5:

because i feel like you are in that sweet spot of at least from my personal experience the 20s it was like you do whatever you want you you know you make a lot of mistakes and you go oh i i wish i wouldn't have done that or i wish i wish i would have done more of that whatever and i feel like a lot of women, at least I did in, in your, once you hit your thirties and you're in your mid thirties. Yeah. Am I right about that? It, it becomes real like, Oh, okay. You do feel this pressure from yourself and from society to settle, to settle down a little bit. And so I'm wondering if these women that you're surrounding yourself with are in that

00:52:17 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 4:

mindset. I think the bar changes, the bar gets higher, the older you get. Yeah. And

00:52:22 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 5:

i think you also surround yourself with a very specific type of female and that's a compliment to you by the way i think that the standards are naturally higher and so and you look for certain things at least from the spreadsheet that i'm looking at here certain qualities so that would

00:52:42 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 3:

make sense to me it really it really would um i but i i tend to think that you know guys are or uh at a certain age get to that their age is probably like near death they're the they're the age of the blue pill uh no no but i think that i i would see that that would be a normal thing that you're thinking to yourself okay i'm gonna have more fun when i'm in my 20s but now i gotta start really focusing and settling down i want to slow my my count down

00:53:12 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 4:

well you have to provide more at a certain point like providing what like i don't need it for emotional stability okay like i don't need to just have sex just yeah yeah i well and i think you

00:53:25 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 1:

look for things differently too for sure what's up nikki hi hello kev i actually agree with you

00:53:32 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 3:

talk to me wait what is what did kev say that's agreeable he just said this is what girls are

00:53:37 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 5:

doing she said she actually is like she normally doesn't yeah but i'm saying what is it what is

00:53:42 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 3:

he what started to agree on he just said that that's what he's noticed with the women why are

00:53:46 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 1:

they doing it that's is my thing well for me personally i'm 44 when i was in my 30s i was just having sex just for the fun of it but now the older i'm getting i am saving myself for that person i want to start being intimate for you know with that right person yeah what if the guy though i guess it's just a thing as i get older that it's just changing for me what if guys though

00:54:10 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 3:

uh feel like okay well i don't want this and you in do you think that you would lose a guy over that, over you trying to be celibate?

00:54:21 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 1:

I mean, if I don't see a future with them, then, yes, I'm not going to do it.

00:54:26 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I wonder if that's ever happened to any women that are out there dating right now. If you said, no, listen, I'm saving myself, and the guy's like, I'm out of here, because he's like, I don't know.

00:54:36 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 4:

It's probably so. He's doing it to weed those people out anyways.

00:54:39 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

It's kind of like going to a dealership and they won't let you test drive, you know? That's a great question. And maybe he's, well, but it's, you're thinking to yourself, all right, I can't buy it just sight unseen, you know what I mean?

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I mean, with me, it's just that I just wanted to mean more with somebody that I see a future.

00:55:00 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 5:

with absolutely well and if the guy only wants it i and i'd say this too if the guy wants to bake cookies with you on the first date he doesn't care he doesn't if i don't agree with that though either oh i think that's such it's an immature thing that guys do when they start younger when they do it older they're just out there trying to see how many cookies they can eat i really do

00:55:21 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 4:

i i feel you but and to megan's point about women utilizing this as a strategy to read to weed out individuals who aren't looking to do anything more than eat cookies i feel like sometimes it make us hang in there for the wrong reasons also though like you may weed out some guys that don't want to hang around and don't have the patience in order to last that long but then you have some guys that go okay bitch alan john i'm about to stick around just to do that which one are you

00:55:51 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 5:

i'm somewhere in the middle but but if the guy though sticks around maybe he'll actually get to

00:55:57 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 2:

know her better for sure asia what's up hey good morning good morning i'm on my second bout of celibacy right now i went six years in my 20s and gave it up because i wanted to um and then started over because there's just really nothing out here worth giving it up for honestly that's

00:56:24 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 5:

a good point maybe maybe that's the reason why they're celibate these guys are so bad

00:56:28 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

and then i've had it to where some dudes stick around because it presents a challenge they want to see how long they they can go before they wear you down and then some are like okay whatever

00:56:40 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 5:

that's interesting so you found their intentions to be bad huh yeah for sure wow i will say this from hearing from all the single uh people on the show the guys these days are just bad it's and i don't i don't believe that they're bad they were bad you know before dating apps i think dating apps made guys really more empowered than they should be and i think it's and it's brought out the bad in in human beings because they know if you don't like it i'll go find somebody else I can, you know, I've got a catalog basically on my phone. What's up, Eric?

00:57:20 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. Long time, long time. Hey, thank you.

00:57:23 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 5:

You got me. I almost hit that horn. Go ahead.

00:57:26 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 1:

I know. So, Kev, you're saying you're noticing this. Maybe it's just a you thing, man. Maybe they're just doing that specifically for you, if you're the one noticing it.

00:57:35 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 4:

Could be. Or could be more people out there who are also noticing it.

00:57:40 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I mean, maybe they're just turning it down. They don't like the Kevin. Could be. Could be.

00:57:46 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 5:

I used to talk to Slim about this. Slim, who used to work on the show. Did you ever meet him at all? Yeah. So Slim used to say that he hated the image he had of being a womanizer because he really wasn't the womanizer that was portrayed on the radio. And leaving the radio show for him was a lot because he wanted to get his life personally better. And I could see where that could be the case, too, with a lot of women that hear the conversations that we have on our show. And everything is tongue-in-cheek and things like that. And I used to say that. I used to stay slim all the time. I'd be like, man, if I had a sister that was your age and stuff, he would be a perfect match because he's such a good human being. But we portrayed on the air, like, hey, I'm hanging out at the clubs and all this stuff. And he would bring topics to the air. But that's the thing sometimes. I think sometimes people have an image based on seeing somebody.

00:58:33 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't get lost in that. I don't care how people feel about me or how I sound on the radio. If we sit down and we have a conversation and if we have – Somebody said it one time, if we have an issue and you didn't text me about it because you didn't have my number, then we really didn't have an issue because you didn't know me in the first place.

00:58:50 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because you, yeah, they didn't want to bring it to you or talk to you about it.

00:58:54 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 4:

What are we talking about here?

00:58:55 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 5:

Mac, what's up?

00:58:57 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo, first time, long time. Hey, buddy. Yeah, so my fiance, we've been dating for almost four years now, our first two years. we actually you know we're having sex regularly and um started having sex by probably about the fourth date and then it came to a point where we realized that our whole relationship our whole foundation was built upon sex so we took a huge step back about two years ago and like you know if we're gonna live our way and not live god's way you know i don't know if this is going to work out so over the course of the last two years we've been you know abstaining from from sex and uh we actually were cohabiting as well so we we moved back out and um yeah we're

00:59:46 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

that is huge major props to you how what what would you have done if it made the relationship worse like we with that would that have been okay good i saw this or

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 4:

Or would it have been sad that that things turn that way?

01:00:04 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So here here's the actual full story is we actually broke up for three or four months because the foundation had just completely crumbled because, you know, I was, you know, starting to look at other women and, you know, not really sure if I wanted to be with Amanda, which was my fiance. And, you know, kind of just got to the point where I was like, you know, am I with the right girl? So I really took, you know, about four months to myself.

01:00:33 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 4:

And it took you four months to realize that or you guys just decided that four months.

01:00:39 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 2:

It took me about four months to realize that when I had, you know, sex for the first time after I was single again, you know, after dating her for about two years. And I was like, wow, this just, you know, isn't what it's cracked up to be. I feel like our society, you know, glorified that. But then, you know, took some time to myself, reached back out, you know, to Amanda. And, you know, we actually had a picnic date and kind of just talked through everything, Mojo.

01:01:07 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 4:

Wow. So when are Zach, when are Mac and Amanda getting married?

01:01:14 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're getting married in August. Let's go, Matt.

01:01:18 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 4:

Call us and tell us how, you know, everything goes with the wedding and everything like that. And by the way, the night of the wedding, it's going to be on, isn't it?

01:01:29 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 2:

I know, right? You know, and it's just so cool, right? Just because, like, you know, we had that, and now we took it away from each other and took away, you know, co-happening.

01:01:39 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 3:

So what's going to prevent that from happening again?

01:01:43 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, will it turn back into you guys going crazy again, or are you guys going to be, have you guys talked about?

01:01:49 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 1:

But at least if they do, they've built a strong foundation for them.

01:01:52 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine, by the way, how quick that first night together is going to be? That poor guy. You know what's on the back of those Mack trucks? Heavy load. You better practice. Oh, my God. What is wrong with you? Funny. What is funny?

01:02:10 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 1:

It's a beautiful story, and that's how you ended it.

01:02:13 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 3:

New Terrace on the Dirty on the 30 comes with hidden fees and emotional baggage coming up in seconds on Mojo in the Morning.

01:02:20 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. We're going to give you a chance to win Jonas Brothers tickets right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller, 844-665-6548. It's going to be the return of the Mac there in August.

01:02:39 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 1:

You've been thinking about that for like one minute.

01:02:41 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Kevin's line was so bad. I like that though.

01:02:44 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 1:

It's early.

01:02:46 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 4:

Megan, don't you wish you were homesick? I do. It is early. Megan started with sitting throat pigs. You started this. No.

01:02:53 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Still you. Still you.

01:02:55 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 4:

All right.

01:02:56 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

01:02:59 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 4:

Jonas Brothers tickets right now for you. If you're in the 95th Caller, you can win them weekday mornings at 730 with us. 844 Mojo Live, 95th Caller. What's going on, Shannon, with the Dirties?

01:03:07 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Justin Bieber, man. I am worried about him. He is doing a lot of things, I would say, in the past 48 hours, hinting that, yes, something is going on in his marriage to Haley via some bizarre posts on his Instagram stories also during a live stream that actually happened over the weekend but people are still talking about it so two separate things here and let me start with the Instagram story piece of it he reposted a meme showing a man seemingly mocking his girlfriend in the midst of an emotional argument another one of a guy sitting in a car with the caption me acting nonchalant after an argument to make my bae more mad just all of these little things all of this fueling this live stream that he did over the weekend where he was just looking gaunt and not at all healthy while sharing some new music kind of like mouthing to this new music this is it right here just kind of just strange sounds like a young version of him yeah i don't i don't know if distorted or yeah like the whole thing is it was just strange i've said that word five times but it was and then hayley also clearing up rumors yesterday that she had unfollowed her husband on instagram because people were quick to notice that had happened but there's a glitch that's going on right now on instagram i don't i don't know how to explain this glitch but she came out yesterday to comment on somebody's post and just said it's it's the glitch i'm gonna make this easy I did not unfollow my husband on social media. Sure. The NBA suspending five players for their roles in that little scuffle during the second quarter of the game between the Pistons and the Minnesota Timberwolves. NBA VP Head of Operations Joe Dumar said...

01:05:00 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 3:

Isaiah Stewart was suspended for two games without pay for escalating an on-court altercation. That is the official consequence there. He said that suspension, excuse me, is based on Stewart's history of unsportsmanlike conduct. Pistons forward Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser also received one-game suspensions, which are also without pay.

01:05:24 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 6:

so the the players from minnesota that kind of led to the fighting they all got just the one

01:05:32 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 3:

game but steward's the only one that got two games and then i didn't no sort of consequence for bigger staff no nothing the coaches this is ridiculous bro and that's joe dumars by the way

01:05:42 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 5:

doing it to uh come on joe and that's the part that you mentioned that really chaps my ass It's the part where it's almost like retroactive punishment.

01:05:54 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because he had a history of unsportsmanlike conduct. Exactly.

01:05:58 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 5:

Like, you can't go back to what you hope. You know what I mean? Like, you can't penalize me for your failure to correctly and appropriately give me the consequence that you thought was necessary. And now you have a chance. We're going to give you more games. I agree.

01:06:11 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 6:

Do you remember the Stuart LeBron situation? Oh, yeah.

01:06:15 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 5:

That was great.

01:06:16 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 6:

And I gave that guy so much credit, man, because, you know, you do that to the GOAT, you're going to get yourself in trouble.

01:06:22 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 5:

You call LeBron the GOAT, right? I like that. The crazy thing is that the Pistons have been doing so well that the NBA is starting to switch their national coverage and start putting games that were on the back burner on national TV. So tonight we play the best team record-wise in the NBA on ESPN at 930, which is the Oklahoma City Thunder, but three of our main guys are now out. It's just terrible timing for it all.

01:06:46 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 3:

Another Diddy story to tell you about today, and this is a crazy one. A man accusing Diddy of sexual assault claims in a brand new lawsuit that he was paraded around Diddy's home while being forced to wear a penis mask. And he claims, speaking of LeBron, that LeBron, Beyonce and Jay-Z were at this party. This accuser's name is Joseph Manzero. He alleges that he was drugged, taken to a home on Star Island in Miami, owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan. And this was for Christian Combs, King Combs's birthday back in 2015. OK, once there, he claims that Gloria Estefan saw him in this deteriorating state, told somebody to call an ambulance before Emilio ushered her away from what was happening. He then said he briefly saw LeBron walking down a hallway and he said out loud, y'all better do something about that, pointing to this guy who filed this lawsuit. The complaint alleges that this man, again, Joseph is his name, was then taken via an underground tunnel to Diddy's Mansion nearby. When he regained partial consciousness, he was all of a sudden in a room with Jay-Z and Beyonce. And Beyonce is looking at him, very confused, and asking the people around her why a half-naked man with a sex toy strapped to his face was standing in front of her. Diddy's legal team strongly denies these new allegations, by the way. And lastly, a Pennsylvania woman in the dirty this morning making national news. She is currently searching for a jacket that she donated to charity after realizing she left a winning $2.5 million lottery ticket in the jacket's pocket.

01:08:33 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. Wow. A Ganey County woman found out she won the lottery and then realized she lost the ticket. She left it in an old jacket that she donated to charity.

01:08:45 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Talk about a nightmare. The winning lottery ticket, it's not a small one. It's worth $2.5 million. Her name is Mildred Simona Riludo, and she said she bought the ticket at a grocery store last May. Two weeks later, she found, hey, I won, but where's the ticket? That's when she remembered she had put it inside a jacket that she donated to Vietnam Veterans of America. I was stupified.

01:09:10 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 2:

I was, there's no words for it. I, it was like beyond expression. How can I get it back?

01:09:17 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 7:

Wow. The organization donates clothing around the world. How do you remember what numbers were on that ticket? That jacket could be anywhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The lottery officials told Simone Riluto she must have the ticket in person to claim the jackpot.

01:09:30 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 6:

I wonder if she had a picture of it, if she would be able to say that that was her. If you can't.

01:09:33 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 3:

The ticket expires May 8th. She got to find the jacket before May 8th. Two and a half million dollars.

01:09:38 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 4:

This is also a year ago, so I probably got that jacket and threw it away. Oh my God. Yeah, for sure.

01:09:45 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 6:

Here's the thing, though. I wonder what happens legally if somebody does come forward and claim and they go, okay, now I found it in this jacket. It's yours.

01:09:53 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 4:

I said it was her ticket.

01:09:54 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 6:

But its ownership is nine-tenths of the law.

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

But that's why they say sign the back of it. Exactly.

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 3:

That's the key. Dang. All right. For all of today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:10:27 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Hi. Good morning. Hi, Ashley.

01:10:30 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

01:10:32 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 5:

Not too much. I'm just on my way to work right now.

01:10:34 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what, Ashley? It's going to be a great drive to work today because you're a winner. Congratulations to you. You got Jonas Brothers tickets.

01:10:41 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 5:

We're setting you up. You got a pair of tickets. We're going to set you up with tickets to go see the Jonas Brothers. They're going to be at Comerica Park. All right?

01:10:52 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. I'm so excited.

01:10:55 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 2:

What's your favorite Jonas Brothers song?

01:10:57 - 01:11:08 | Speaker 5:

You know, it's really hard because, like, I've been, like, a diehard fan following them since, like, the very beginning. But I have to go back to, like, their first, like, album, When You Look Me In The Eyes. I think that's the best one.

01:11:08 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Look at you enjoying the young Jonas Brothers when they were just little children without children, right? Yeah. I can't believe, by the way, it's amazing. It's turning into another Taylor Swift for me with this one with people asking me for tickets now. and everybody wanted to cash in on friendships, getting tickets. We'll have tickets weekday mornings at 7.30 for you to win, so keep listening. Hang on the phone and we'll get you set up, okay?

01:11:38 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

01:11:39 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 2:

Have a great time at the show.

01:11:41 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate it.

01:11:42 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 2:

All right. We have in like, I don't know, 45 minutes, some more stuff to give away too, including a chance for you to go see Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. We're giving away opening day tickets, and the weather looks great. And I know the weather today is not supposed to be really great. There's like a huge system that's kind of going through the entire Midwest, causing for some rain this morning through the rest of the day, turning into flooding rain that could be really severe, especially for our listeners that are checking us out in the Detroit, downriver areas, and through Toledo. And then they're saying severe storms in this evening through the middle of the night. So be very careful. And then this is the craziest thing. There's snow. We have snow that people are starting to see. They're saying that there's some flurries that they're starting to see. And you saw what happened in northern Michigan, right, with the ice storms?

01:12:36 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 3:

No. It's really bad.

01:12:38 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Ice storms caused for many people to have, they still don't have power. They have no Wi-Fi or no, you know, any cable service.

01:12:46 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm talking so destructive, so much ice that it was, like, encapsulating tree trunks and tree branches and trees were falling and homes were destroyed. It was really, really scary. Is that what's heading our way? No.

01:13:00 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

No, that was from the weekend storms that kind of went, but the northern got so much colder because of being up. Like, I always, whenever I meet somebody and they'll say, I'm from Houghton Lake, I'm like, oh, my gosh, what do you do? Did you just wear, like, north faces all year?

01:13:14 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 4:

Dude, I just love how I shook my head no with you. Like, I know exactly what's going on. I'm so checked out. I have no idea what's going on. But you said no. I was like, yeah, no. Obviously, the answer is no. I have no idea.

01:13:23 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, you were to blame for this because you said that you love winter. So this is all for you.

01:13:28 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, thanks.

01:13:30 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Mojo with Shannon and Megan and Kevin. And we've got Lydia and we've got Zach and we've got Bianca here with us. Very happy to have Bianca. So, for those that don't know Bianca, Bianca's been part of our team for a long time. She's been part of the promotional team here at the station and then started working for us, and you were doing, like, social media and things like that for us for a while, and we've had you on the air numerous times. People may not know that Bianca's Chaldean, which is, that's how you know it.

01:14:05 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 5:

You do it so well. You see her do it so well. I'm getting better at it. I'm getting better at practicing. You practice every day around here, loudly.

01:14:12 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 2:

And for those that don't know, Chaldeans are Iraqi Catholics, predominantly in the Detroit area, sometimes in San Diego. Of course, Sterling Heights. Megan actually has said to me, people in Toledo don't know who a Chaldean is, but I think from our show, maybe they know.

01:14:29 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if we define it all the time.

01:14:32 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 2:

They own all the liquor stores down in Toledo.

01:14:34 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 4:

They know the word. I feel like if you say Chaldean, people in Toledo would be like, I've heard that word before, but if you were like, define it, they'd be like, I don't know.

01:14:41 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 2:

But bigger than that, here's a definition for you. They have very protective fathers and brothers. And Bianca has a very protective dad. And this story is hysterical. So Bianca, the night before last or something like that?

01:14:56 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 5:

It was on like Saturday night. Oh, so it was weekend. It was weekend. So, you were hanging out with a boy.

01:15:02 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Wait a minute. How old were you, Bianca? I'm 22.

01:15:07 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 5:

She's 22 years old.

01:15:09 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, youngster.

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 5:

And they were at a bar or something?

01:15:12 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 4:

Like a little local club, local bar. Local bar. No, not a club. It was like a local bar.

01:15:16 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 5:

Where at? What bar were you at?

01:15:18 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 4:

The Hub on like 21 and Garfield. Okay. It was like a sports bar. It was like chill. All right.

01:15:21 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

So, they're hanging out. This boy and her were hanging out when all of a sudden, busting through the doors was somebody that Bianca recognized.

01:15:28 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 4:

My dad. Stop. Yes, literally pulled up to the front, parked his car right by the door, walked up. I was like, I think that's my dad. How did he know where you were? Left through 60.

01:15:44 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, so was he coming thinking that you were just there with friends, or did he know that you were on a date and he wanted to check out the guy?

01:15:52 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't think, I don't know what he thought. I didn't really tell him my plans, but he knows my location, so I don't really tell him where I'm going, because honestly, you can see it. Yes. But I was talking to the guy, and I was like, I think that's my dad. He's like, you're joking. Your dad's not here. I'm like, no, my dad is. And he's like, oh, shoot. He got really nervous because my dad looks like Chaldean Mafia, like, you know, the bald head, big stomach, you know. He's pulling up. And I was like, Dad, this is the guy, you know, from American Idol.

01:16:21 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 5:

From American Idol? Who's the man? Oh. Really?

01:16:24 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what? His name is David Feo. He was on, like, a couple seasons ago. But I was actually talking with him about music But like I'm not going to tell my dad Oh look at this guy Like I had to give him some reason why I'm talking to the guy You know He like made the first round I don't know But then my dad was like I don't care What are you doing? Why are you here? He's like no he actually did this He summoned him Like you were in trouble Yeah and all the bouncers Everyone's like staring at me This is so embarrassing It's like getting in trouble at school in front of your parents I'm like bro I'm 22 You shouldn't be acting like this I'm like come on Like you don't do that In East Lansing Wait why did he say He was there He just said He's like I just want to make sure You're not drinking and driving I'm like I give up alcohol for lunch Oh sweet dad

01:17:06 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 5:

So it had nothing to do With the boy you're saying It was about

01:17:09 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 4:

No I think he just wanted To like stalk me And just kind of see What I was doing But I'm like I'm 22 You should not be doing that At that age And this is why I don't have a boyfriend Did he text or call at all Or he just Nope he just pulled up Didn't even tell me I'm like if you were actually Trying to check on me You would have texted me Hey are you doing Yes You won't just show up and pop up out of nowhere. She said, bro didn't even park. He just put up in the front.

01:17:31 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 5:

Ah, you got to breathe.

01:17:32 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 4:

It is time to move out. Hold on. After this, I'm like, I'm looking for a part of this.

01:17:37 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 5:

No, no, you can't move out. You only move out when you're getting married, when you're a Kelvian.

01:17:41 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 1:

Children's primacy.

01:17:42 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second. We're calling your dad up.

01:17:44 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 1:

Has he done this before, Bianca? Hello? Al.

01:17:48 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 3:

How you doing, Mojo? How are you, buddy? I'm good. How you doing, my man?

01:17:54 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing fantastic. I'm calling you because your gorgeous daughter just told us about how she was hanging out with some guys at a bar and that you didn't improve. And I wanted to say I'm high-fiving you over the radio right now.

01:18:13 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it, Mojo, because, you know, when sometimes those girls, when they go, thank God, they get drunk and get stupid, so I got to keep my eye on them. I love it.

01:18:22 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 4:

John, I literally gave up drinking for lunch. I told you that.

01:18:24 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 5:

I want to know how scared did those guys look, Al, when you walked in and walked up to him?

01:18:32 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

She was talking to this guy. She said, I don't know, he's from American Idol or something. So I walked up to her. I said, what are you doing? So I gave her a kiss and a hug. And she said, oh, that's the guy from Market here. What's up, man? What? Keep going.

01:18:44 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 5:

Keep going. Oh, your dad's working. He's saying hi to people there. And so what did you say? So what did you say? You said to the guy, what the hell are you doing? Or what did you say?

01:18:53 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't want to be that rude. You know how Kelty and people are. Sometimes they get rude really quick. Yeah.

01:18:58 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 5:

So you were kind of nice. You were kind of nice to these guys.

01:19:02 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 2:

I was kind of nice. Yeah, I was kind of nice. You know, sometimes I like to be polite and professional like you sometimes, you know.

01:19:09 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 6:

Kevin, don't you think that this is how every dad should act? I don't know if it's how every dad should act. And I don't want to tell a dad how to raise his daughter. But he knows his daughter. So he felt like he should have been there. And it's not like he should have because you got a little American Idol boy with his arms wrapped around.

01:19:25 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 4:

It's the plug. It's the connection. You know what I'm saying? But the thing is, you shouldn't be stalking me like that. Like, you can text me. You have my Life360 location, and you got premiums, so you can see everything. You never called me. You just showed up.

01:19:38 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 5:

You don't answer your dad's phone?

01:19:40 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 4:

I used to not until Hassan told me to always answer your dad's phone, so now I do. But you shouldn't be pulling up on me like that because you don't do that to Austin. You don't just show up to his events.

01:19:50 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

He's a boy, that's why. You don't have to look him up. Just like Joe Mojo. You don't have to look up for Luke or the older one. Listen. I don't know.

01:20:00 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 4:

As a wise dad of a daughter said, as a father of a son, I only have to worry about one penis. You've got to worry about everybody's penises, right?

01:20:13 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 2:

You're 100% right, Mojo.

01:20:15 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Listen, I'm going to tell you, we're going to make sure that I've got the Life 360 on Bianca, too. I'm going to make sure that she's not doing anything. I'll show up with you, Al. We'll go there together, and we'll beat a little American Idol boy's ass.

01:20:29 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. All right.

01:20:31 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 4:

I love this. This is great.

01:20:35 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 3:

I always look up for their safety, Mom said.

01:20:39 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 2:

My mom's worse. My mom is worse. My mom will bang on my friend's doors in the middle of the night if I don't answer my phone.

01:20:45 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. She's done that. Will you guys do me a...

01:20:47 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we did more crazy. You didn't stop a nut back in the day.

01:20:50 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 4:

I need them up in East Lansing for my son, Luke, right now. I can't get the kid to pick up my phone sometimes. I know. Well, listen, hey, before we leave. I'm doing great. It was, oh, it's fantastic. The trip was fantastic. I had a great time. I got to see Joey and stuff. Hey, real quick, were you guys talking Chaldean to each other? Like, do you guys do that? I always love when I hear people talk.

01:21:14 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Lydia can do it. I can't speak. My dad never taught me.

01:21:16 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 4:

You never? Go ahead, Lydia. Lydia.

01:21:18 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 2:

No, what did you say? It's like repeat. I don't understand. Adam, I don't look at any. No! Why, you don't understand that?

01:21:39 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 3:

How do you say it? I have to know all these bad words, these guys. 80 feet? how do you say

01:21:50 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 4:

stay away from my daughter or I will have you killed

01:21:53 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

wow

01:22:01 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea what it is but that sounds pretty harsh we love you buddy see you Al talk to you soon you guys have a good day beautiful show yellow bye

01:22:12 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, bye, bye, bye, bye. Nicole, how are you? Did you have a dad that would do that to you?

01:22:26 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. I just wanted to say, Bianca, girl, you're lucky you even stepped foot in that bar. I know. Back in my day, oh, we couldn't even make it to the bar. We couldn't even make it the first stop. I'm telling you.

01:22:39 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 4:

It would always be your brothers that would stop you. because dad told them to go out there and meet you.

01:22:44 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 2:

Girl, I still have a coffee. Yeah, and they didn't even have, like, 360, but they knew where you were every minute.

01:22:48 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 4:

It was crazy. Thanks for the call. Add the Mojo in the Morning Show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon says that there's something about guys that they will not do. And what is that, Shannon?

01:23:04 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 1:

Go to the doctor. Certain doctors specifically. And I say this because, and you all know how crazy I am about reminding people to go to one, get your mammogram every year, ladies, but also go to the dermatologist once a year to get your skin checked for skin cancer. I went on Monday for my yearly check. I had squamous cell carcinoma removed from both of my legs. It's not fun. And so it's a five minute appointment. Just go see a dermatologist, please, please, please. So Wes knew that I had this appointment on Monday, and he and I were talking about it, and he casually revealed to me that he has never been to a dermatologist, ever. Same. Oh, my God. Kevin, do not make me get on YouTube. It's so important. It's such a quick appointment. And in the same breath, though, here's what really bothered me. Wes goes, I'm pretty sure I have cancer. Oh, God. Why is it? He has a spot or spots that don't look right, and so he said, I'm pretty sure. I'm like, you know that. You think that, yet you will not go to the doctor. Why? Why is it? And he goes, I don't want to stand there naked while some doctor just inspects my... Who cares? It's a doctor.

01:24:24 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 4:

It's not just a guy thing, because we have a lot of women that are listening to the show. I guarantee you don't go to the doctor. And one of them, I have to force my wife to go to a doctor. But then there's the opposite. it. Chelsea thinks that I like going to the doctor too much. Like she thinks that I'm like hyper crazy about going to the doctor. And I call, you know, having a friend like Dr. Warner, having Mark as a friend, you know, I'll talk to him all the time. Oh man, I woke up this morning and Mark is very attentive to all of his patients. Yeah. So he'll be like, well, you should do this to this. And I'm like, oh, why not? You know what I mean?

01:24:57 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

See, but truly why not? It's that's.

01:25:00 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 2:

your life it's your body i feel like men don't like going to the doctor and women don't like going to the dentist some of these yuck moms i love going i didn't see i think i think for me personally it was ignorance and still is ignorance about the dermatologist i thought people just go there because they had acne i thought it was just like a facial type of thing and you go get checked

01:25:22 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

up well you know a lot of times that's your first time that you ever go because your parents will take you or something or maybe when you're younger or something or you might have something on you but like the Shannon thing you know and I think there are some people that are pre-determined to have a lot more issues when it comes to skin cancer. I wasn't I just I remember

01:25:41 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 3:

shaving my legs this is before I got laser hair removal and I I kept nicking this spot on my leg and so I'm like I I think it was my ex-husband who said you need to go get that checked out because that looks funky and sure as spit it was skin cancer is it do you have i know you had had

01:26:01 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 1:

there is it been in other spots your body both times i had it removed on my leg because i know people like that are outdoors all day and they're in the sun and stuff and they like never will get checked out but then they don't seem to have any issues at all with it and that's what made me so

01:26:20 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 3:

crazy about my husband because he knows that there's potentially something up and he still will not i said i'm gonna make that appointment for you i'm gonna be that wife i don't care i even told my doctor shout out to dr lindsey sklar she's the best um i said you will be seeing my husband in a few weeks because i'm gonna make an appointment for him i don't care but some people

01:26:39 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

smoke two packs a day and they're fine in their 80s and other people get like emphysema when they're 22 like there's just go to the damn doctor they did a study and men who have daughters live longer and it's because we make you go to the doctor oh really yeah that's interesting 74 weeks

01:26:56 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 1:

longer that's a whole extra year of life but they but you don't take any of the life away from them

01:27:01 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 4:

when they have to like chase you around because the mother study on that on sons and daughters is how much life they remove from your lifespan for moms it was very interesting my dad said

01:27:12 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 1:

dance recitals removed years you know you know what also is interesting you ever notice with the person that is like the oldest person ever they always do the interview with them and you're like here's this 120 year old lady and they're like what dr. pepper yeah he's right and you're like who the hell bacon they say they sit here i i believe that only the good die young man you so you know what i mean you just gotta live a crazy life be crazy and for some reason you don't end up dying out of the deal um well we're gonna have to have a little conversation with uh

01:27:47 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

with wesley we're gonna have to talk he's actually coming in in a couple of minutes because he's

01:27:51 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 1:

gonna work from from the studio for a little while so you just wait wait how long how long will he be here uh for because maybe we can have a doctor come down and play a house

01:27:59 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 4:

and that's the problem nowadays too is a lot of people can't get appointments too with doctors

01:28:08 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 3:

Bruh, don't even get me started. It's tough. Okay, so make one now. Know you have it on your calendar for three months from now. Hi, Cheryl. No excuses. I'm coming to Lindsay.

01:28:16 - 01:28:16 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:28:17 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? This mojo? Yeah, it is. What's up, Cheryl? Hi.

01:28:24 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 5:

My husband just died of brain cancer. He never went to the doctor for two and a half years. Oh, my goodness gracious.

01:28:30 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 3:

And was there something that he felt was wrong?

01:28:34 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 5:

No, I even tried to make an appointment for him because he had a headache, and he wouldn't go.

01:28:41 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 1:

Man, so he had prior to that gone to the doctor but didn't go for two and a half years while he was in pain? Or no, never went to the doctor ever?

01:28:51 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 5:

Two and a half years ago, he almost died of a heart attack.

01:28:55 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 1:

Jeez, and that wasn't an eye-opener for him? That wasn't something that gave him a, you know, okay, I got to take care of myself? Man, that's sad. How are you holding up, Cheryl?

01:29:07 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

I'm holding up pretty good. Just living day by day.

01:29:12 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're sorry about that. It's got to be tough. It's got to be very, very tough. You take care of yourself.

01:29:16 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 5:

He had eight tumors in his brain, one in his brain stem and one in his lung.

01:29:26 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know what? If you guys are parents, you got kids?

01:29:31 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 5:

uh well he was my second marriage so uh i have kids from a different gentleman and he had other

01:29:39 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 1:

he had kids from another person too yeah because that's the thing it's like i i always feel like that is the part that i just don't want to miss out on their life you know so taking care of them and i know how wes is as a dad it's like you don't want you take care of yourself what's up Melissa wants to stick up for Wes. What's up?

01:29:58 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

I'm just, I'm...

01:30:00 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 1:

now in america as well but in canada you don't see specialists like to see a dermatologist you have to have like something super wrong then you're waiting like another six to eight months to even get in and they'll only see you for specific like details why do they talk about

01:30:17 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 2:

how canada's health care is like better than ours but they don't do that this man has lived here for

01:30:25 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 5:

two decades okay so the Canadian knows the American way that is not an excuse anymore well guess who's that Canadian passport like he still did no are you

01:30:37 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 2:

are you gonna be like mom and take him there like you know I go to dr. Reynolds our orthodontist yeah and I go get my sparks and stuff I'm the only person in there without a mother sitting next to them for an appointment and so I wonder that's going to be like you with Wes.

01:30:53 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 5:

I will. Honestly. Make his ass go.

01:30:55 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 3:

Sure. Do they have a fish tank at that office?

01:30:58 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 5:

They don't get stickers and there's no treasure chest. I'm sorry. It's very sterile.

01:31:05 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVTS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:31:12 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:31:14 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 4:

Live Mojo. Five, four, three, two, one.

01:31:26 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 3:

Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:31:30 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 2:

All right, are you ready?

01:31:32 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:31:34 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:31:39 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 1:

Let's go.

01:31:40 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning coming up this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show. We've got a lot to get to, including Megan and the guy that she met. And when they met in person, he's even hotter. She's going to talk about that. Also, second date update. Speaking of dating, why are you not getting a call back? David's wondering what the hell happened. He thought the date was actually perfect and thought that they were doing nothing but laughing and having fun. And now he's getting ghosted. And then later this hour, Shannon with, and this is, I'm not even going to give it away because when she told me what it was, it's too damn funny. It's almost got to be the last thing that you say. But the reason why she started laughing in bed the other night. So that's on the way in just a little bit. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. I would like for guys to call up and defend me on this because I think that this would be one of those situations where I need to have it be that other guys do this. but what is it about guys wanting to pee outside there's just something about peeing outside that just makes you feel like a like you're a man you know what i mean like makes you feel like you're

01:32:54 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 5:

just feeling good about yourself and now as a mom of a little boy it's it starts young what is it are you born with that urge to go outdoors there you go i think it's because we can you know what

01:33:08 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 2:

you mean like i know that sounds weird but we can i think we just like allow boys to be gremlins

01:33:13 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 3:

it's yeah it's it's part of becoming a man you know some people throw bar mitzvahs some people

01:33:18 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 2:

pee outside it's what happens it's the greatest thing ever and then what is it about when you take your dogs to go out to the bathroom i feel like i get a sympathetic pooping that i feel like whenever i when i take henry and louis my two dogs out to go to the bathroom when they're going to the bathroom it makes me feel like i have to go well are you gonna tell us a story about pooping outside i did not no okay so let me say this i have never pooped outside thank god all right i honestly thought that's where you were going with this you know where's what around here where's wood because i don't want it to have to be that i have to because you know what you only do that in an emergency case i've never thanked god had to do that in an emergency but i did pee so i was taking uh henry and louie out to go to the bathroom and when i walked outside to go take them to go pee outside um i felt like i had to go and i know sometimes these guys play around a little bit and they want to like it takes them a while to actually do their thing so while they were doing it i'm like god i don't know if i can last long enough to wait until i go inside and then all of a sudden it always happens whenever i have to pee a neighbor will walk by and start talking to me or talk to the dogs like their dogs want to talk about my dogs. So it got a little crazy. You said while you're peeing? No, not when I'm peeing but when I have to pee. But there was nobody around at this time. But I was worried that this was going to happen though, Kev. I sent this ring camera video and I don't know if there's even a way to put...

01:34:52 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 5:

Wait, to us?

01:34:53 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I sent it to you guys.

01:34:54 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 5:

No, thank you.

01:34:54 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what is on this video?

01:34:56 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

No, thank you. So on this is me taking my dogs outside.

01:35:00 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 3:

And then as I take my dogs outside, you see me having to pee. And then I just decide I'm going to pee. I'm going to go to a corner and I'm going to pee. And on the video, you can also hear something else too. Oh, you hear that?

01:35:33 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 2:

You've already...

01:35:35 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hold on, I take back what was just said. I think I did poop outside once.

01:35:40 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 4:

That is the longest pee ever as I'm watching you here.

01:35:43 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:35:44 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 4:

And two, aren't you nervous? You just let your dogs run free like that?

01:35:47 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 3:

Are you nervous they're going to get hit by a car? No. No, I'm kind of hoping. You hope they get hit by a car. I'm kind of hoping, yeah.

01:35:53 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 2:

There's a seagull out there. There's pterodactyls. He's amazing. Are you peeing into Chelsea's beautiful landscaping?

01:36:03 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 3:

The flowers, yeah.

01:36:04 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 2:

You cannot pee at your front entrance. Why can I not pee at my front entrance? People walk there. I'm so mad.

01:36:10 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 3:

No, nobody's walking in that part right there. No, nobody's like.

01:36:15 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 2:

That's the walk-up area. You can't pee in a walk-up area.

01:36:19 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 3:

No, but it's like right off the side. It's off the corner of the porch. It's still the front.

01:36:23 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 2:

You bought a porch. Where your Amazon deliverer going to put the packages at? Look how skinny your ring camera makes you look. Seriously, you look real skinny.

01:36:32 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 3:

Please post that picture. That's my skinny pee picture.

01:36:35 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 2:

I hope DoorDash leaves your order right there.

01:36:37 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Patrick? Hi.

01:36:38 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Hello, Joe. First time walk time. Hey, buddy. Patrick, go number four.

01:36:46 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 7:

I don't, not for peeing.

01:36:48 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 5:

Come on. We were golfing. Me and my buddy Nick were golfing probably about five years ago, and he had to go number two so bad, ran into the woods, took his golf towel right off his bag, came back with no golf towel.

01:37:05 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 4:

You guys are like toddlers. Somebody made a stinking. I know. You had a warning. You had to go to the bathroom. I know that this didn't just hit you out of nowhere.

01:37:15 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 5:

I was going to hit the port-a-body a couple holes back.

01:37:18 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

I've never – you know, it's funny. I've been out and I've said, guys, we've got to go back in, and I've had to find a place to go. Like, I actually left Chelsea out on the golf course once because I had a gluten attack that happened to me at one point.

01:37:31 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 4:

That's so different, it's not even funny. But this peeing thing.

01:37:35 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:37:36 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 4:

Y'all have full-time jobs. Y'all have mortgages or rent payments. You pay. You pay to be able to flush a toilet, and you go, I'd rather not. It makes no sense.

01:37:46 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

I would rather go outside. For some reason, I enjoy it outside.

01:37:49 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 4:

Do you know back in the day we used to die at, like, 30 because people are going to the bathroom in the streets? Use a toilet. We all live longer.

01:37:56 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I think there's something fun about it.

01:37:59 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 6:

If you're ever in my neighborhood and you need to use a toilet, I'm your guy.

01:38:01 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Rachel? Hi.

01:38:04 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 1:

Hi. First time long time. Hey there, Rachel.

01:38:09 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 3:

We finally found a topic that relates to people. Yes.

01:38:13 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 1:

My boyfriend every morning goes out, and I catch him peeing outside with the dog. I've asked him why before. and he says it's their way of bonding.

01:38:23 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 3:

See that? That's cute. That's awesome for him, right? Yeah.

01:38:29 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 7:

Two animals, acting like animals.

01:38:31 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever have neighbors that complain and say, hey, Rachel, I saw Bob out there, you know, or something?

01:38:37 - 01:38:40 | Speaker 1:

Luckily, the neighbors can't see with the fence, so that's good.

01:38:41 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 3:

Thank God. Teresa, what's happening, Teresa?

01:38:45 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, my husband does this every day after work. Like, Megan, I am so on the page with you. Like, I'm like, dude, we have indoor plumbing now. You weirdo. Come in the house. Like, somebody invented this. I know, right? We have neighbors. And he's like, well, that's why we live in the country. And I'm like, if you can see the house next door, is it really the country? No.

01:39:08 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:39:10 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 3:

Love you, Teresa. Thank you. What's up, Kristen? Hi. Or Samantha, I'm sorry. Samantha, I'll get to Kirsten next.

01:39:20 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Yeah. Every day, my husband used to get home before me from work. I would see him in our backyard camera, setting the dogs out and peeing next to the deck. We have three full baths.

01:39:32 - 01:39:32 | Unknown:

Why?

01:39:33 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 3:

If you try it once, he'll never do it again. I think that's the thing. If he knows that you go out there and do it, he'll think it's weird and he'll go, all right, I'm never doing this again. That's always been a threat that Chelsea has made. Could you imagine that, by the way, all of a sudden when you see Smith out there peeing and you're like, Smith, you can't go pee anymore. And it's like, all right, I'm going out and peeing with you. He'd be like, Mom.

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 7:

No, he would love it. He'd be so excited. He would. He has a partner in crime.

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 5:

Hold my hand. Kirsten, what's up?

01:40:02 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. Quick one. My husband used to do landscaping back in the day, and they used to do big subdivisions. And, you know, they're on port-a-potties. You can't use a restroom around there. And sometimes they're bucked up right next to the woods. If he had to go, he would literally go walk into the woods, go number two, and rip off a piece of his sleeve and use that to wipe. So when you come home, he comes home, he's missing a sleeve. I'm like, oh, you had to go, huh? He'd be like, yeah, you just got to go there.

01:40:27 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 5:

Megan and Everett are on with us right now. What's up, Megan? Is Megan mom and Everett is the son?

01:40:42 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes. So Megan is the mom and Everett's my five-year-old. And we love listening to you. First time, long time. Hey, Megan and Everett on the phone. Love you guys. So he was telling me, he was listening to you talking about going pee on the golf course. And when he golfs with dad, here, you want to tell him what you do? Are you nervous? Well, so he told me that he has a specific tree at every hole.

01:41:12 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Every hole.

01:41:13 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I love it. He's like a chihuahua. Yes. He's like, I always pee on the golf course with dad, mom. That's so cute.

01:41:21 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 5:

How old is Everett?

01:41:23 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Everett, tell me how I'm good.

01:41:25 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Everett. Everett, can you hear me?

01:41:28 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 3:

I love going pee. I love going pee.

01:41:33 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 5:

Everett, who's a better golfer, you or your dad?

01:41:37 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 3:

My dad.

01:41:38 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're going to beat him one day, right?

01:41:41 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

01:41:42 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 5:

I love it. That's so cool. Everett, have a great day at school, buddy.

01:41:47 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:41:48 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate you. By the way, Megan, as long as Everett doesn't pee on the playground.

01:41:53 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 4:

All right. It is Mojo in the morning, Megan under the weather because she was doing God's work.

01:42:10 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 5:

She was out hanging at a mud hens game. And you think you got sick there? You think it was the weather was also kind of crazy, too.

01:42:18 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 2:

no it's i this is why i don't like touching people everybody wants to hug and take photos and eat off each other's plates and share beers and i know that i got this cold from that and i'm pissed off about it this is why i want to be like bubble boy like you know how they make those bubbles that you can like run into other people playing soccer i'm one of those for all public events like happy to see you say they have a way for me i feel like crap i literally just hit the wall and i looked at my timer it's like five minutes till i can take more medicine i would

01:42:52 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 5:

i can't wait we should do that by the way since you're still under the weather right now when we

01:42:57 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 2:

do tiger's opening day we'll get you one of those i will sneeze on all i will open my mouth cough

01:43:05 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 5:

like a toddler like hey that's what you get hey guys uh there's megan over there hey guys how you

01:43:10 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 2:

give me a two soup can and a piece of string and that's how we'll talk to each other stay in your lane stay why did everybody just look behind me like i was about to be attacked okay y'all at the same time looked at the window behind me i was like i'm dying it's finally happening um but opening day i finally oh wow i sound a mess um i finally ran into this guy i've been trying to meet for freaking ever my girlfriend and i have been stalking him for forever she's friends with him and she's been trying to set us up and yada yada yada so quite frequently we go through like she'll be like he's gonna come to my son's birthday party and we'll go on his facebook and we look at his photos we're like you mean you mean him and then i had to leave early and he showed up late or yeah there was like a um super bowl not super bowl that's not what i wanted uh our fantasy football team had our draft and i couldn't make it last minute and that's the thing he showed up So we've, like, just been missing each other for quite a while. Well, we finally meet on opening day at Heaven on Earth, a.k.a. Furgers. Wait, so did Kev meet this guy?

01:44:17 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 4:

I think I know who she's talking about, though, because they ducked off.

01:44:21 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 2:

We didn't duck off. I was working all day.

01:44:24 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 4:

What the hell are you talking about? Zach, did they duck off?

01:44:27 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:44:29 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 4:

Is he confirming?

01:44:29 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 5:

I can't hear Zach. Zach's confirming, yes. Okay, okay. He's in Mojo's ear. Oh, so you both lie.

01:44:33 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I just wanted to know if you met him. This isn't the first time you're lying about opening day, because I heard about you guys talking about me talking about Toledo, and you didn't give the full information from opening day. Clear the air. Okay, wait. We got to get to that. First, first, this story. So, anyways, I finally meet him in person, and the one consensus that we have both had is that we both find each other hotter in person, but then he went off and got drunk, and I went off, and I had to work, and we lost each other.

01:45:00 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 4:

and we never saw each other for the rest of the day. Do you not have numbers? No. Instagram. But your friend knows them, right? Yes, but it's weird. No, you got it. Instagram, give me your phone. No, this is what I get so frustrated with dudes. Why are none of you making the move?

01:45:14 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. That's interesting. None of you are making the move. Y'all definitely saying to the numbers. I'm not going to creep on you.

01:45:17 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

I made a joke like, oh my God, we haven't met in person before. And he goes, no, I've been waiting for this for a long time. I said, me too. I feel like I know you because I've stalked you so much online. We're joking about how we're supposed to have met. okay and then we don't see each other make the move so now you take that joke and say

01:45:33 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 1:

i'm going to continue to stalk you by actually reaching out to you it would be so cute this is

01:45:38 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 4:

so frustrating this is so sick of dude yes he's incredibly hot he knows he's hot dude you know

01:45:44 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 5:

how hot you are so good god so that's the story guys call up why why are you guys not making the move call us up and talk to us about this because i i still don't get it why these why everything is being left it's very unappealing for you guys to be taking back seat on beautiful women what are

01:46:06 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 1:

you doing okay but maybe since you guys joked about stalking each other sorry i keep clearing my throat maybe he doesn't want to come off as creepy and so that's why he's not reaching out

01:46:17 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 5:

to you on social media i don't know or maybe he got her sick and he's still home sick right now

01:46:23 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 6:

I don't think there's any right answer here. Like, I don't see why he, because if I see you in person and we have had the conversation that both of us look good and we told one another, then I can reach out to you immediately because I already know the ball is going to go in the net when I shoot it.

01:46:43 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You know what I mean? Like, it's a win. Or is that a compliment? Do people, because sometimes, nowadays, you got to be careful because people take it as a backhanded compliment. Like, you're much better looking in person.

01:46:53 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 1:

I remember a lady said that to me the other day, of you look way better in person than you do on your photos. I know I do.

01:46:59 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 6:

I can't pose right. I'm more of a candy guy anyway. I feel like that.

01:47:04 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 5:

So we're talking about him. We're now saying this. Your friend knows, because your friend obviously is going to probably hear that you said this. I think that this is the thing where friends need to be friends.

01:47:15 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he's listening. I know he's listening. Reach out to her. Call us right now. I'm legitimately pissed.

01:47:21 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 6:

actually what does he look like what does he look like i tell you let me tell you if it's the dude

01:47:25 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 4:

was he was he a black dude no okay never mind she ducked off with a black chris proctor i don't know

01:47:33 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 5:

that man we exactly was like chris used to chris used to work at uh the station used to be the afternoon guy on kiss okay um hold on uh brian hello what's going on buddy what's what's up what's up with the guys brian i feel like we need to have a guy forum where we all start realizing that

01:47:51 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 3:

we're ruining mankind it's not that we're ruining mankind it's just dating in general is junk we want effort we got to put in effort both ways reciprocation is this but maybe why aren't guys

01:48:08 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 1:

feeling comfortable making that first step anymore because they have apps to do it for them because

01:48:14 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 3:

but even on the app somebody has to do something we get ridiculed for every way we approach a woman If we try too hard, we get ridiculed for it. If we don't try enough, we get ridiculed for it. So it's kind of, how do we respond when everything we do is wrong?

01:48:33 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 5:

I agree. And you're also afraid that if you come on too hard, they're going to think that you're doing it for a different reason. That's a good point. Brian, that's a really good point. Tony, what's up, Tony? Hi.

01:48:45 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 2:

Morning.

01:48:46 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, buddy? Megan said that this guy hasn't made a move, and she wants to make a move, but she doesn't have his number. What should she do?

01:48:55 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Social media is key. Yes. That's how you find everybody. Social media is key. And also, maybe he might have froze.

01:49:06 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 5:

Maybe he's.

01:49:07 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 2:

He might have been feeling Megan, and, you know, he didn't know what to say or what to do. He probably just freaked out and froze.

01:49:13 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What do you think?

01:49:14 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't mean, you know, that it's over with.

01:49:17 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What do you think she should do?

01:49:18 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 4:

Maybe I'll see him again in another four years.

01:49:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 5:

Don't you think she should reach to her friend and say, give me his phone number. I'm calling him today or texting him today?

01:49:27 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 2:

She should, because if not, he's dropping the ball, and I'm single, so he needs to pick it up.

01:49:32 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 4:

But here's where I get frustrated then, is every time I do make a move, it's you're emasculating men. You're not letting the man make him feel like a man anymore. He needs to take the lead. You don't even know if he was interested in you if you were taking the lead. Like, I just feel like there's no way.

01:49:46 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 1:

All you need to say is, hey, it was really nice to finally meet you in person. You exist.

01:49:51 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 4:

I just want to say, we could have gotten naked.

01:49:54 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 5:

You would have done it. Or that.

01:49:55 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Whatever. You're so hot. Turn the lights off. But let's.

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 3:

get naked do you think that uh don't you think that if he was really really interested though

01:50:05 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 5:

he would have asked for the number that's what i think really yeah i think maybe not asked for the number but he would have at least reached out on instagram the only thing that sucks is

01:50:15 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 4:

opening day is weird everybody scatters everybody's drunk everybody's trying to stick together with a group like it is not a normal day uh patrice what do you want to say um i wanted to tell

01:50:27 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Megan just get out your own way you you you blocking you blocking Megan you have to sometimes just reach out you know I think sometimes men want to be um felt that you know feel that they are um you know worthy too so I think sometimes Megan you just you you stay in your

01:50:47 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 3:

own way a lot of times you're reading too much into it just go call do it I think so I agree I agree on this one, especially if you're that attracted to this guy and you thought that you had a really good conversation with him. Stop overthinking it. Just call the guy. What's up, Landon?

01:51:04 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:51:05 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 6:

How's it going?

01:51:06 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi, buddy. It's going good. What's going on?

01:51:08 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 6:

So basically, like, we're just sick of getting hurt, so why put in so much effort if we're just going to get hurt in the end?

01:51:16 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 5:

Because you're not going to get anything if you don't take a risk.

01:51:19 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You've got to look fear in the eye, my friend, and deal with it. i heard a wise man say that once but i no i can i tell you something landon i get it you you're i think women are also afraid of getting hurt too and the problem is everybody's afraid to get hurt that guess what they're hurt so it's yeah but then we'll but then we'll end up like the guy on war of the roses yeah well well no you end up like the guy on war of the roses

01:51:42 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 5:

you're gonna be making some grilled apricot chicken yeah tonight that's you gotta you gotta

01:51:48 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 3:

just here's the thing megan let's let's let this simmer until the end of the show and then by the end of the show you should call your friend get the number send him a text send him a text and say well then guess what you're not gonna have him and then you know okay i i i gotta i gotta say

01:52:04 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 4:

from your phone i'm gonna send him a dm on your behalf but i can't wait both that i was in yesterday then i don't like i don't understand how this got blamed on me i don't understand

01:52:12 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 3:

you always have to turn it back on yourself no we're saying be a forceful and call him

01:52:18 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 5:

don't call no no no i wouldn't say call i would say i wouldn't even say text i even that's a little invasive to me i would reach out over instagram or facebook however you guys are have

01:52:28 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 2:

been looking at his stuff she don't want to do that yeah she wants him to take the lead she wants a man to be aggressive and reach out and show initiative and interest and even if she finds him attractive it's not enough for her she wants a man to reach out that's what she wants okay then then move on to the next guy that's it oh he's cute making that frickers approach her i listen

01:52:48 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 3:

if we did if we took this way with frickers we'd never order the food for god's sakes we'd sit there and wait for them to bring us out out food you got to you got to sometimes put place your order place the order with them i think that you never know what you're going to miss out on and if you don't want it then then don't complain about it uh but i think that this guy's listening Call Megan.

01:53:09 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 4:

I wasn't complaining. Or call the show. Call the show. I literally wasn't complaining.

01:53:14 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 2:

She says she wanted to get make.

01:53:16 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

I'm not complaining.

01:53:18 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 3:

You're complaining that guys don't make the effort. That's what you're, or that you're insinuating that guys don't make the effort. All right, let me get to second date update. Let's get to a true failed relationship. We don't even know that yet. One that we know for sure. Second date update.

01:53:34 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 5:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:53:36 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 3:

All right, why are you not getting a call back? David said that the date was spectacular. You guys even were laughing and having fun on the date, but then nothing? You haven't talked to her since, David? No, yeah, I haven't heard anything from her since. And you actually liked her. That's the thing that's so crazy. Like, you want to talk to her. You're not one of those guys waiting on the sidelines wanting her to make the move.

01:54:03 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 6:

No, no, I do want to talk to her, and I've just not heard back from her.

01:54:06 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

You guys went out for a nice meal, I heard Fancy restaurant, everything was good?

01:54:13 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I took her to a nice restaurant I thought it was good I thought I was very nice and respectful And did everything right And just haven't heard back

01:54:22 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 3:

Alright, Raina's on the phone with us right now We're going to find out what the answer is Raina, are you there?

01:54:28 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 1:

Hi

01:54:28 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey Raina, will you say hi to David?

01:54:33 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi David

01:54:34 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 3:

Hi David, reach out and grab her Tell her, say hey, we had some fun Talk to her Tell her what you want

01:54:45 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 6:

I thought we had a great date And I would love to see you again But I haven't heard from you So I just wanted to find out what was going on Or if I did something wrong

01:54:55 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we had a nice date

01:55:00 - 01:55:01 | Speaker 6:

It was fine.

01:55:02 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 4:

Just fine?

01:55:04 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 6:

It started really, really nice. I really enjoyed the restaurant.

01:55:13 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you enjoyed the restaurant? Did you enjoy the company? Did you have fun with David?

01:55:19 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 6:

At times. I mean, I feel like he is just like a little too immature for me. In what way? um he just like kept making like inappropriate sex jokes at the table and i guess i just felt

01:55:38 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 4:

like embarrassed and uncomfortable david you were making inappropriate sex jokes

01:55:42 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 3:

um i mean i guess a few i was just trying to like kind of be funny and try to break the ice what was he saying reina like examples sure yeah can you can you share

01:55:58 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 6:

Sure So like He had like ordered chicken And then he was like Your breasts are probably going to taste better than this chicken breast Oh dang He went for it Like I was drinking from a Yeah I was drinking from like a straw And you want to see how far the straw will go into my house Oh okay

01:56:18 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 4:

David Were you drinking? What the hell? He was going for it

01:56:24 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 6:

I think like Yeah we had some drinks

01:56:27 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 4:

yeah i know but were you were you like dumbfounded when he said those things to you

01:56:34 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 6:

uh yeah i mean i guess i was just like embarrassed and felt awkward about it and um i guess like the thing that was the shoulder brick camel's back was when he was like stirring mac and cheese and was like oh no no no no no no he's going crazy

01:56:52 - 01:57:02 | Speaker 5:

Did y'all meet on OnlyFans? How did he just escalate? He was horny. Bro, he doing the most right now.

01:57:03 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 4:

David. I don't know how she didn't get up and just leave. How did you not realize that that was the reason why she was not calling you back?

01:57:10 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I just thought they were jokes. I mean, nothing happened after the date. And I didn't mean for her to take it so seriously. I was just nervous and trying to lighten the mood.

01:57:22 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 5:

but i i guess it didn't work i mean you got a sense that she felt uncomfortable at a certain point though she's not laughing at me were you were you acting as though the jokes were funny or did you show him that you weren't comfortable with these words i feel like i was i mean i feel

01:57:40 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 6:

i'm so shocked by it i can't remember my exact reaction other than a oh okay kind of vibe but But, like, in the moment, I guess I could have been more, I don't like that, but I guess I was just so baffled by it.

01:57:53 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 4:

Wow. That's crazy.

01:57:55 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 1:

That would make me very uncomfortable and also very turned off.

01:58:01 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 4:

That's a nice word.

01:58:01 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 1:

So I agree with you.

01:58:03 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 4:

David, do you regret that now? Or do you look at that and go, geez, this is a learning lesson for you?

01:58:12 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. I mean, I guess I was just nervous. And I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable, but, yeah, I definitely will try not to do something like that again.

01:58:25 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 4:

Shelly wants to comment. What's up, Shelly? Hi. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. What's going on?

01:58:31 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 2:

I got to tell you, as a grown woman, if I was sitting at a table with him and he talked to that, I would literally slap him across the face and get up and walk out. Like, a joke is a joke, but when you make it personal about someone, that's not okay.

01:58:45 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That was unbelievable. Well, a good joke is a joke. Those aren't even good jokes.

01:58:52 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 2:

No, no, that is not a joke at all. That's harassment and completely inappropriate.

01:58:58 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 4:

David did apologize, so I will give him that and say, Raina, do you accept his apology or are you good with that or no?

01:59:08 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I accept the apology, but I think that maybe the maturity for me is just like not what I want in a partner.

01:59:15 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 4:

How old are you, David? I'm 24. Okay.

01:59:20 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 6:

I said Reina. Sorry.

01:59:22 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Now, how old are you, Reina?

01:59:24 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 6:

28.

01:59:24 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

You're 28? And David's, well, that's, is a 28-year-old, like, the maturity level of a 28-year-old is different than a maturity of a 24-year-old, don't you think?

01:59:33 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 5:

Generally speaking.

01:59:34 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I hate to say it, he shouldn't be doing that at 24 years old, but that's still kind of, it might be, he might be too young. Ryan, what'd you want to say, Ryan?

01:59:44 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, guys? How you doing? Good morning, my boy, David.

01:59:48 - 01:59:55 | Unknown:

Hey, man, you got to eat mac and cheese with your first date and act the same way you do when you eat with your mother, buddy. Like, you can't be acting crazy like that.

01:59:56 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

That's wild. We all know what the sound is. I know, right?

02:00:00 - 02:00:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, thank you.

02:00:02 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. All right, well, second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:00:06 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 6:

This is the home of the dirty of the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

02:00:14 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to get a pair of tickets out right now. This is a pair of tickets to see Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. What do they do? Do they do, like, stand-up, or is this another one of those? A lot of my friends are going to, like, podcast shows where people are just sitting up on stage talking.

02:00:30 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:00:32 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm not aware of them.

02:00:34 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 3:

You don't know who they are? I know. I know. You don't know their show.

02:00:38 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know what it's like.

02:00:40 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 4:

Because I, to be honest with you, I think they're both funny. It'd be interesting to see what the show's all about. It's this Saturday night, and it's happening at the Fox Theater, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller is going to win a pair of tickets.

02:00:57 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:01:01 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. We had a big death in the middle of the night, a breaking story.

02:01:07 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 2:

That's what made me sad. Val Kilmer, who played, God, he's been in everything. Doc Holliday in Tombstone. He was just in Top Gun Maverick. He channeled Jim Morrison in The Doors. Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever.

02:01:21 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 1:

I see without seeing. To me, darkness is as clear as daylight.

02:01:27 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 2:

Died yesterday at the age of 65 in L.A. His daughter said it was pneumonia that took him. But he had been battling throat cancer for several years, was very open about that journey and the fact that he needed a trach. In fact, I pulled an interview that he did with Good Morning America back in 2021. Obviously talking with the trach there, he lived, I mean, he really shied away from Hollywood, aside from doing Top Gun Maverick, but lived on a quiet rant in New Mexico and spent his time painting and helping to oversee some theater programs for high school students who are really interested in, like, Shakespeare.

02:02:15 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 3:

Very cool.

02:02:16 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 2:

So, yeah, 65 years old, so young.

02:02:18 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 4:

A lot of people thought that if he didn't get the throat cancer because of that whole movie, The Doors, that he did, he would have probably been even a bigger actor than some of the actors that we see out there that are the biggest A in the list actors because he was kind of a heartthrob at one point. Oh, God, yeah. Not a great Batman, though.

02:02:37 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 5:

Agreed. That was a good Batman movie, though. One of my least favorite Batmans. Ben Affleck is the worst. What about Christian Bale? Christian Bale's the best. Christian Bale's my favorite.

02:02:45 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 4:

Michael, it goes, the worst is Ben Affleck. Then right after Ben Affleck is probably Val Kilmer and then Michael Keaton. And what about George Clooney? George Clooney is worse than maybe Val Kilmer.

02:03:00 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 5:

He was more Bruce Wayne, though. I feel like that's why he was him. I like Robert Pattinson, though.

02:03:05 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 2:

Big congrats to Jason and Kylie Kelsey. They welcomed their fourth daughter this week. Four girls. He is absolutely a girl dad. Kylie announcing the birth of Finley, Finn, and Kelsey on Instagram last night. She joins big sisters Wyatt, Elliott, and Bennett, the cutest girl names ever. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said yesterday that she has directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty against Luigi Mangione, that guy accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City a couple of months ago. So for what it's worth, he has pleaded not guilty to the state indictment that he's facing and has not yet entered a plea to the federal charges that he's facing. But still, the death penalty is what they're looking at.

02:03:48 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 5:

Why? For him.

02:03:49 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 4:

Because he went up and shot a man directly.

02:03:51 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 5:

But I'm saying, why not just throw him in jail for life? Why are they going straight for the death penalty? I mean, people get, not saying people get murdered every day, but like they don't seek the death penalty for all these murders. Why this one?

02:04:03 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 4:

This is pretty amazing that, do you know that? in california they're talking about making a law that protects the insurance company or protects you from the insurance companies and using his name as the law see really usually when you do a law and you name it after somebody it's because the person you know did something that was like great they're saying this guy murder was a great act in doing that they want to make an example

02:04:30 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 5:

out of him that's why they don't want any copycats well it's interesting they say his legal defense

02:04:34 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 4:

fund is huge because of all the people that sympathize with him are all sending him money.

02:04:42 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Kristen Cavallari sharing the name of the athlete that she had a casual fling with. People were very invested in trying to figure out who it was. It was former NHL player Nate Thompson. This was a big secret that she teased a couple of months ago on Bunny XO's podcast.

02:05:00 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

his name or anything but um tick tock detectives sort of pieced it together and i don't even care i said his name on tour i'm i really think he's such a great guy so that's not one where i'm like i don't want anyone to know a really amazing guy he is an ex um hockey player he's been retired for a couple years now he's a dad he's just he is someone who has done a lot of work on himself and we really connected on such a deep level as you can tell by her past tense they're not together

02:05:29 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 3:

anymore nate commenting after she dropped his name saying he has nothing bad to say about her even though it would never have worked out he didn't want to call her his girlfriend and jen you know that is kind of like actually a bad thing after he said he had nothing bad to say about her but then said i would never call her my girlfriend i don't know and lastly gen z professionals are using gmail to determine their co-workers ages this makes me feel very old and i'm going going to explain to you how this is happening. So this started on Reddit and somebody explained that their Gen Z coworker called them out for using their first and last name at gmail.com. Really? And this makes you old because it means that you got that email address when your first and last name were actually available on Gmail, which is when it first started. So if you have that which i do with my middle initial and some dots in there i'm not gonna get away my personal email address but it just means that you are old and other people were trying to make this guy feel better by going i'm earthlink.net old or i still use my aol email which i know mojo still has an

02:06:44 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 2:

aol i have it only for junk mail all my junk mail what do you put on your resume if you don't have your first and last name a creative one i don't know what this guy's like it's a badge of honor

02:06:55 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 4:

at this point you know my email is an easy email to remember and it's butt no arts at gmail.com

02:07:04 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 3:

you can email me anytime you want to send me all your someone has like kevin erwin 69 at gmail.com and you use that for your professional 69 when i was

02:07:13 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 5:

You say 59 or 69?

02:07:16 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 4:

I said 69. I thought you said 59.

02:07:19 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 5:

When I was younger, that's an interesting thing Megan brings up. Like, what do you put on the resume? I used to have Kill a Kev 007 at Hotmail.com when I was younger.

02:07:28 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. I always felt like Hotmail accounts show your age, too.

02:07:31 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for sure.

02:07:32 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

Because everybody had it. I had a hotmail.

02:07:33 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 4:

Or Yahoo. My Yahoo.

02:07:35 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 5:

Yahoo's still out here. SBC Global. I'm like, Grandma, you didn't know. We're never going to remember that.

02:07:40 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 3:

02:08:05 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 4:

We're going to set you up with a pair of those tickets Saturday night. We'll see you downtown. I'm actually going to be downtown going to the Pistons game. There's going to be a lot of fun stuff going on downtown on Saturday night. So have a great time, okay?

02:08:17 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thank you. I'm so excited.

02:08:18 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. We appreciate you. Hang on one second. When we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning Show, next topic up for grabs, Shannon and, oh, so I'm going to dip the music down for a second. You cannot give it away until the end, but what made Shannon laugh in bed the other night that she actually had to hide her laughing from her husband because she didn't want him to.

02:08:39 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 3:

He still doesn't know this.

02:08:41 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

So, she's going to tell the reason why. The reason why made me laugh. We'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.

02:08:46 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 6:

Cheating is no accident. Stubbing your toe is an accident. You don't accidentally run into somebody's privates. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 on Mojo in the Morning. Call us.

02:09:01 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE.

02:09:03 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 6:

844-665-6548.

02:09:06 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning. budget on the morning show oh this is good i like when we are able to do a topic about our significant others and we can get our significant others on the phone this is one step better we get them in the studio with us yeah because shannon's husband wes is arrived into the studio is here. And this is a good one, too, because this is about those guys fornicating together. A little cookie bake. It's this for those kids.

02:09:48 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 3:

Or as Dr. Werner says, having relations. Having relations. I don't like that. Having relations. Such a gynecological term.

02:10:00 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

And we know because they're newlyweds. They have relations a lot more than the ones that are married for a while. But okay, so tell me what's going on. What's happening?

02:10:13 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 5:

So it is never good to laugh in the middle of having relations, right? No. The answer to that is no, because somebody is bound to be offended, depending on what the laughter is all about. So the other night, Wes and I were baking cookies and I don't, I can't get too descriptive here, but we were in a position where you, I'm looking at my husband, could not see, we were in a position where you could not see my face. Okay. That's not as descriptive as I can get. Face down. That is an important part of the story. That is an important part of the story because all of a sudden, in the middle of doing what we were doing, I burped. I burped. And it was, first off, loud, but also like, oh, my God, I could not stop laughing. And it smelled horrible. So thank God he was not in the vicinity of my face. But I uncontrollably started laughing because, one, I burped. And then second came the smell. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is bad.

02:11:29 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 6:

This is a bad situation. Could you hear her laughing? Or could you feel me? No.

02:11:36 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Could you hear the burp?

02:11:42 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:11:43 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 2:

Could you smell the burp?

02:11:45 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 5:

No, because I realized how bad it smelled. So I shoved my face in the pillow and just let him.

02:11:55 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Knock the gas out of you.

02:11:59 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 4:

So when she's in there. It's worse when the spouse is here, dude. It's so much worse.

02:12:05 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Are you thinking, wait, are you thinking at this moment.

02:12:08 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 4:

He doesn't know anything.

02:12:09 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 2:

But are you, if you're, she's kind of making a little bit of noises. Are you thinking, oh, she's into this.

02:12:14 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she's into this.

02:12:15 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 5:

I ain't never making a burp. That's all you need to know. You guys, I could not, you know those moments when you start laughing and you can't stop. And I'm thinking, oh, my God, he's going to think he's doing something wrong or, like, I'm not into this. And I knew it was going to be offensive, so I just, the pillow was my destination. Okay.

02:12:33 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 2:

So, okay, what was making you laugh during this thing? Was it the burp or the bad smell?

02:12:39 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 7:

Both.

02:12:40 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

What did it smell like? Meatballs.

02:12:43 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 7:

Meatballs!

02:12:44 - 02:12:46 | Unknown:

We had meatballs for dinner!

02:12:46 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 5:

We had garlic meatballs and a salad with onions. That's so bad. So bad. Like meatballs.

02:12:55 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 4:

That is the most not sexy moment. This is why sex is always a precursor to the meal.

02:13:05 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 7:

Always.

02:13:06 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 5:

This was hours later. That's how bad it still was.

02:13:11 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Here's the topic here right now. What made you laugh during sex? Please tell me you weren't laughing at your partner. Cause that would be, oh, that'd be so, that would be tough. Oh my God. That's funny. I like, uh, I like laughing together over something. You know what I mean? Like I like actually having that be, you know what I mean? Like there's, there's something fun about that, but yeah, sometimes it can be those.

02:13:35 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 1:

Did we just do that laughter moment? Yeah.

02:13:38 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 5:

But I'm sure, I'm sure people have experienced it where somebody is laughing during sex and it's, it's like, you don't understand why they're laughing and it's not funny. Yeah, and I pointed to Wes because I know that this is a sore spot for him.

02:13:57 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean? When I first started dating, not getting too detailed, there was one experience where that happened. I was like, what just happened? That was the response from this person. Oh, my God.

02:14:09 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 6:

When they got to a certain point. When they got to a point. No. Really?

02:14:13 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 5:

And I was like, uh-uh.

02:14:14 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 7:

Red flag.

02:14:15 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 6:

I know it.

02:14:16 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

02:14:16 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 5:

And I know this, right? And so as I'm uncontrollably laughing, I'm like, oh, God, this is going to be a trigger.

02:14:27 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 4:

I hate that word, but a trigger. Remember, I had a partner who stopped, like, ended the session because I laughed.

02:14:33 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you're embarrassed.

02:14:34 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 4:

I promise it wasn't you. I know it wasn't you back then. No, we broke a bed. It was hysterical. I was too fat. He was throwing each other around that bedroom. We were throwing the bed in the floor. I started laughing because I was like I feel so skinny and he was pissed and he left the room and we stopped having sex I actually love

02:14:55 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 2:

when one of us farts and it's usually me that's the farter but when you fart during sex, because you can't. I don't know if I've ever done that. You've never farted during sex? Maybe. Not that I can, like, recall. You've never had the like, listen, I fart. I'll be farting loud, too, though, so I can't. Oh, we know. After yesterday, we know. I've had it ruined the whole vibe. Yeah. Has Shannon ever farted during sex at all? No. No. I said, we wouldn't be married. No? No, he, yeah. Oh, really? Yeah. That would not happen? Have you heard her, like, uh, loud fart at all? No. I've walked by afterwards. Oh, really? Because why? She was, like, sitting there waving the air or something? Shannon will do something and not know I'm coming home, and she'll be like, no, no, no, you have to leave. Go. Please don't, please don't. You will divorce me.

02:15:38 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 5:

It is bad.

02:15:39 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 2:

Tanisha, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:15:42 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys.

02:15:43 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's happening?

02:15:46 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so me and my husband, we were baking cookies, but it was like a dozen of cookies, if you guys can catch my truth. Okay, Ms. Fields. So, anyways, this was going on, and then the lady's foot ended up on my head, and he looked at me, and I looked at him, and we bust out laughing.

02:16:07 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wait.

02:16:08 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Wait. Hold on a second. Wait. Hold on a second.

02:16:11 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 2:

You didn't tell us there was a lady there. It truly was Mrs. Fields.

02:16:18 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 5:

I said we baked a dozen of cookies, so it was like multiple times. Oh, it was a party. Oh, it was a big song. They're the kind of people who have a blue light on their front porch. That's crazy.

02:16:32 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 2:

Man, oh, man. The lady's foot. Oh, God. Thank God it was just her foot. Jay is voice disguised right now. Hey, Jay.

02:16:42 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So I'm voice disguised because it was her.

02:16:49 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and you don't want her to know that you're calling up to tell us this?

02:16:52 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no.

02:16:53 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:16:54 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 5:

No, no.

02:16:56 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 2:

So what's the story? What got you to laugh?

02:17:01 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm getting echo.

02:17:02 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 2:

Your phone is bad. Either your phone is bad or you're a guy that likes to have dramatic pauses. Start again. What happened?

02:17:11 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 4:

She farted.

02:17:12 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 2:

She farted. Okay.

02:17:13 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 5:

You got to be voices guys for that. Oh, God. I thought it was going to be good. No, no, no. She was in the same position and she farted.

02:17:23 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:17:23 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

02:17:24 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 2:

Instead of farting. And that happened. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. That is bad.

02:17:34 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 5:

That's how you get pink. You deserve it if you tell stories like that.

02:17:39 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 2:

Terry, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:43 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

Hello, me?

02:17:44 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 2:

Yes, there you go, Terry. How you doing?

02:17:46 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I'm great. So when you're laughing during baking cookies, your Christmas tends to pulse, and that makes it feel a little bit better for him oh wow interesting

02:17:58 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 2:

that that is actually that seems obvious like that that's kind of cool i like that we're gonna i'm gonna pull out feathers and stuff

02:18:10 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

what's up aaron how you doing good morning everybody welcome back megan i love my triggers i swear to god i'm gonna be a lot less sooner rather than later but my story is during baking cookies with my ex-wife she had picked up the phone to her mom and then was like uh she told her mom that she'll call her back and like we both busted out laughing And so that was pretty much the end of it.

02:18:43 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I agree. Then she grabs the phone. By the way, the answering the phone to just say, I'll call you right back, maybe the voicemail message might be the easier way to do that whole thing. A lot of times you pick up the phone, especially if your kid's calling you or something, and you're worried, God forbid, can you imagine if they're in an accident or something like that and you were having sex? Although, you'd have a good reason, right? It's the two dial. You wait the one, let it go to voicemail. If it comes back the second one. Tyra, what's up, Tyra?

02:19:14 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. What's going on? So the funniest story that I have about laughing is that, okay, I used to be a traffic reporter right here in Detroit for several years, and the guy I was dating at the same time, he said he used to always turn them on when he'd hear me on the radio. And so during Baking Cookies, I guess that's what y'all calling it, He asked me, right in the heat of things, to recite a traffic report for him. Oh. What? Give it to us. Let's hear it. Yes, he did. And I thought he was, I just started busting out laughing, and he was like, what's so funny? And I'm like, oh, you serious? He was like, yeah. So I was like, okay.

02:20:00 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 1:

I-75 North at Sashibar. I thought he was going to give you a play-by-play. He was going to be like, give me the play-by-play with what's happening here. That's awesome. Oh, my God.

02:20:11 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 3:

He's coming up the road. Initial S wants to be voice disguised also. We're talking about laughing during sex. What made you laugh, S?

02:20:20 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes. While we was making cookies, I looked up my husband, and he was so ugly. Oh, my God.

02:20:28 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

You are not.

02:20:30 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was he ugly?

02:20:34 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 3:

Like his facial expression was ugly?

02:20:37 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 1:

Yes. He looked like a fly. His tongue was hanging out. He was just so ugly. So now when we're baking cookies, I don't let him see my face. I'm like, dang, am I ugly too? Oh, that is great.

02:20:54 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 3:

I love that you're voice disguised because you probably listen to this show, the poor guy. Thank you for the call.

02:21:00 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 2:

02:21:57 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

02:21:59 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Don't be nervous. This is only your relationship forever with your mom.

02:22:04 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

I stay messing with her.

02:22:05 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 3:

Is your mom the type of person that will be mad? Like, will she hold a grudge?

02:22:10 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 4:

No, she's not going to hold a grudge. She actually loves your guys' show.

02:22:13 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, let's see what happens.

02:22:15 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 4:

She loves your guys' radio station.

02:22:17 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 3:

We're going to have fun with your mom here. Five lies to tell your mom. You're 22. Are you fun? Are you a lot of fun?

02:22:27 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm always getting into something. I'm a little crazy. I've settled down more recently.

02:22:32 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to get the energy back in you. Here we go. These are lies. We made them up. Five lies. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I did a nude photo shoot. Lie number two.

02:22:44 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 5:

Say, I was talking to that cute guy at work.

02:22:47 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 3:

Lie number three. I sent him the pictures a while ago. Lie number four.

02:22:52 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 5:

We got into an argument, and now he wants to leak those pictures.

02:22:56 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 3:

And finally, lie number five. Can we crop your head on these and try to make it say that it was you? Do you and your mom look alike?

02:23:09 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 4:

So not really, but me and Bianca were going to say that, But I'm just going to be panicked and frantic and be like, well, I mean, no one's ever seen you. Like, I don't know. Like, I had this idea. Oh, I like it. She's an actress. Well, you have to.

02:23:23 - 02:23:24 | Speaker 5:

My friend Kim, like, I don't know, Mom.

02:23:24 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. She's good.

02:23:25 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, you have to make sure you're a really good actress if your mom listens to the show. Yeah. So she doesn't know that it's a five lies.

02:23:31 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 3:

Here we go. We're going to call up your mom for five lies to tell your mom.

02:23:43 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

okay mom can you go on uh on hold for a minute at work what's going on mom i'm having like a really bad panic attack right now what's going on julie you're gonna like promise you're not gonna get mad at me what did you do julie okay okay a couple weekends ago i did a nude photo shoot what kind of photo shoot just like a modeling thing like a nude one like for this detroit studio a nude one well like yeah where are you at right now are you at work yes because something happened and i'm in my car what happened julia okay do you know that kid at work that i thought was cute what a guy at work that i thought was cute at what work i don't know you don't you tell me bits and pieces of things so i don't know just tell me what's going on what happened okay i sent the pics to him a little bit like like a week ago why would you send anything new to anybody especially someone you just met Well, we got into a f***ing fight and he's trying to leave them.

02:25:00 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 3:

okay well i was talking to tim and he was like maybe we could try to like put your mom's face on them or like kim's face and just say it was them what guy at work the guy i work with that's trying to leave them that you work with where at the neuro rehab like do you think i could just like put your face on them and say it's you i mean no one's

02:25:29 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 4:

ever seen you. I'm good with my face and put on there. Tell the guy if he leaks them, you're

02:25:37 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

going to sue them. I don't know. I'm panicking and then everyone thinks I should put your face on them and blame you. No, you're not putting my face on them. Okay. Let's put a

02:25:49 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 4:

stranger's face on them. You already sent them to them, so how are you going to change

02:25:53 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 3:

them? I'm just going to be like, this is the picture he's talking about. It's not me.

02:25:59 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, is your face showing in the picture?

02:26:01 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 3:

I mean, like, yeah, basically. That's what I thought about.

02:26:04 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 4:

Why would you send anybody those kind of pictures of yourself?

02:26:08 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 3:

I was modeling. I didn't think it was a big deal.

02:26:15 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 4:

Is that where you're getting all your money from?

02:26:18 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 3:

I mean, no. I really didn't even make anything, and now it's causing all these f***ing problems.

02:26:25 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 4:

You didn't make anything, but you let somebody take new photos of you. Come on, Julia.

02:26:30 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 3:

It's like a modeling thing, Mom. That ain't a modeling thing. You don't need to get out there.

02:26:35 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, you don't need to get out there like that.

02:26:38 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mom.

02:26:41 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 4:

Who's this?

02:26:42 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

Mom, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show calling.

02:26:48 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 4:

Are you kidding me? Delayed response.

02:26:54 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 2:

Julia had you on five lies to tell your mom.

02:26:59 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 4:

you guys got me good oh kill you girl mom were you mad

02:27:16 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 2:

oh your mom was mad hey by the way where are you getting all this money Julia

02:27:23 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 3:

I want to know I work two jobs and I have a business

02:27:27 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. She's a hardworking girl. She does work a lot. She's been buying a lot of things lately and running around talking about being, she's always broke, but she's ordered from Amazon every other day.

02:27:39 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Jesus, man. This business isn't OnlyFans, is it? Yeah, wait a second. Maybe this is too close to home. No. Mom, what?

02:27:49 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 4:

Talking about I'm broke, but you're ordering shit that you don't need when you ain't broke. That's a mom, by the way.

02:27:55 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Mom, would you kill her if she started doing nudes?

02:27:59 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, a real modeling company is not going to ask you to do nudes. It's not modeling. That's some taking advantage of somebody.

02:28:05 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Mom, we understand that you're a fan of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Is that true?

02:28:10 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yes, I am. I love it. I mentioned it yesterday or this morning or last night.

02:28:18 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that amazing that even our biggest listeners can fall for it? Five Lies. Your daughter's an actress. That's unbelievable. She's a really good actress, Julia.

02:28:29 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, I never know with her because she's, like I said, she does, she's got a lot of side things going. She sells things and she thrifts and, you know, she has the full-time job. She has another part-time job, but she's always doing something.

02:28:43 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 2:

And she won you a prize. How great of a daughter is that?

02:28:47 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 4:

Yay, what prize did I win?

02:28:49 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 2:

You got nudes. Nudes, yes. Of Mojo.

02:28:53 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 3:

With my face on that.

02:28:56 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 1:

I love it. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:28:59 - 02:29:00 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:29:01 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom. Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Now number one for podcasts. Listen to the Mojo in the Morning show on iHeartRadio. And if you want to really have fun, listen to the More Mojo podcast. It's rated R fun with Mojo in the Morning.

02:29:21 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Man. Podcast was fun yesterday. The More Mojo podcast, if you didn't get a chance to listen to it, it was a fun podcast of us talking about Lydia's adventures in shadowing other morning shows. And then we kind of talked about, you know, who would we want to go shadow and other shows that are broadcast and around the country and stuff like that. And we kind of got into just randomly, like, what did Lydia learn when she went to go hang out with some of the other shows? What did she think that, I always like this part, what did she think we do way better?

02:30:00 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 3:

better than them you know what i mean like i get competitive with that stuff yes you should and uh then uh we kind of just i don't know it was a bunch of stuff it was good so go go check it out it was like 30 minutes of of i think some good stuff i got a lot of feedback on that yesterday i had a bunch of people i don't realize sometimes how many people that i never would think would listen to anything that we do whether it be on the radio in the morning or on our after show podcast that will comment to me and say, Hey, I was listening to this. And I'm like, why the hell do you have that much time in your hands? You know, how did you get all that time to be able to do that? So, uh, but it was cool. Go check it out. More Mojo podcast preset Mojo in the morning, the more Mojo podcast where you can get that. And then you and Mike are doing a podcast today, or are you taking a today off? Okay. So be off. So next week, or on Wednesday next week, Mike and Megan with the Slightly Messy podcast. Today's the day you're slightly messy.

02:31:00 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 1:

It makes perfect sense. It doesn't fit time-wise.

02:31:03 - 02:31:03 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

02:31:03 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 3:

And then the We Don't podcast, which Shels and I are going to bring back and do. We took a few weeks off for that, so we'll be back with that. But then, so after the show yesterday, I did what I do probably two days a week, and I don't understand why I do it. I don't understand why it is, and this is an honest assessment of things, and I know they are an advertiser, but I want them to learn from this. Why do I always go back to this place when they screw up my order every single time, but for some reason, I go back? You know what's amazing to me is if I go try something new, something that I've never tried before, and they screw up on me, or even the second time I go, they screw up, I'll never go back again. I've done the whole thing. I'll never go back. But there is one place that they could literally screw me up every single time, and I go right back. It's like an abusive relationship.

02:32:04 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 1:

What is it?

02:32:04 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 3:

Chipotle. Oh. For some reason.

02:32:07 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm with you.

02:32:08 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 3:

For some reason, Chipotle will screw me every single time. And I'm like, yes, Dad, I'll take another. You know what I mean?

02:32:18 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 2:

Because you're hopeful. hopeful you have hope that it's gonna be good this next time and i don't have hope and it's

02:32:27 - 02:32:33 | Speaker 3:

not that it's not good it's that they miss or mess up something it's still good even the mess

02:32:33 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 1:

up is good it's so dependent on the location and more so than that the employee there is a location that pisses me off every single time that i go to it every single time i know i'm going to be it's just a bad one they never have enough meat like cooked they never have veggies prepped they never the other day they just didn't have one of the rices like they the way that they lack

02:32:54 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 3:

just the common makeup how do they not know that they're running out and they have to make it right no they know they just don't make it they don't want to do it and it's not that you're going at

02:33:04 - 02:33:18 | Speaker 1:

weird hours what hours are you going at five anywhere from going at dinner time anywhere from 4 to 7 p.m this place literally the other day i was like chicken we don't have it steak we don't have it so fritas let me go check the back all right veggies we don't have it what do

02:33:22 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 3:

guess what they always have they always have guacamole that they charge extra for

02:33:26 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 2:

i do want to try that honey chicken i tried it yeah it looks so delicious it's so good

02:33:33 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 3:

Uh, so here's, so, so let me tell you, let me tell you my experience. I order on the app all the time and the app will say, you know, whatever time you want to pick it up or soonest is whatever time you click on it. And I always give them a 10 minute leeway cause I know they're never going to have it. I showed up yesterday at the Chipotle on Telegraph road in Bloomfield Hills, giving them a leeway of 10 to 20 minutes. I was running late cause I, I hit the wrong one. That's one of my favorite ones. I should have gone on the Orchard Lake one. I show up to a huge amount of app orderers and door dashers that are all, we're all waiting for our orders and we're all sitting there. We were about ready to take over the restaurant. We almost overthrew the Chipotle. We almost had a January 6th on that bitch.

02:34:22 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's a Rexit.

02:34:23 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 3:

We almost had it.

02:34:24 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I refused to order online. How small was your portions? If I'm not giving you the hairy eyeball, I know you're not giving me a proper portion.

02:34:32 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I had? It's funny you say that because I ordered the day before. Literally two days in a row I had it. The day before, they didn't have my order ready. So the manager of the Orchard Lake one goes, as he's scooping, I say extra chicken. I wanted extra chicken in there. And he goes, is that good enough? And I go, no. That's not good enough.

02:34:51 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 1:

If you wanted to ask. If you had to ask, you'd know the answer's no. There's a guy, Keith, who orders burritos and bowls all the time.

02:35:00 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 4:

And then he weighs them, just to show you the difference. He weighs them? He weighs them to show you the difference if you order on the app versus if you order online. Wow. You never order on the app. Wow. I always order on the app. Never. You're getting like half the food.

02:35:12 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 5:

When you bust it open, it'd be full. There's only one Chipotle that gets my order right, and it's the one that has the Chipotle lane. Talk to me. Yes. Wait, what is this? The Hagerty Road location has a drive-thru, but you don't drive-thru an order. You have to order on the app, and then you can pick it up in the lane.

02:35:29 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 4:

The one in Oregon, it has a Chipotle. I love it. I used to lay it down the street from that.

02:35:34 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 5:

All right, so here's my question. Here's my question. What place always screws everything up, but you keep going back for more? And why? What's the reason and why you do it? Lita, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:35:49 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey. First time, long time. Hey. Awesome. So I ordered, like, a $300 Chipotle order for my boyfriend's birthday a couple years ago. Yeah. And my mom showed up to pick it up, and they were like, what are you talking about? We don't have anything ordered. We don't have anything here. So they ended up rushing around and getting it together, but we got it for free.

02:36:16 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Wait, so you ordered it, you already prepaid the $300, and they didn't have it?

02:36:21 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and they gave us a refund after that.

02:36:24 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my goodness. God. But by the way, and here I am worried about my, by the way, I think sometimes I get so hungry, I order what could be a $300 order. I get so hungry, I ask for the bowl with extra meat, and then I ask for some tacos on the side. Which, by the way, they never have the hard shell tacos, and it screws me because I can't eat the sauce shells. I don't get it. First off, this is not just something that happens at Chipotle because it's done at, for some reason, it's Mexican food. Taco Bell does this, too.

02:36:58 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 4:

No, they don't.

02:36:59 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 5:

Taco Bell runs out sometimes, Megan. And I'm like, how do you run out? This is your business.

02:37:04 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 4:

Taco Bell never does that. They have five things on the menu, and it's bottomless. And they'll scrape it off the floor, and you'll be grateful for your floor beans.

02:37:10 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 3:

To me, Taco Bell just gets my order wrong every damn time. No. Every time. Every time. When you're getting a Taco Bell. I get the same thing. Do you modify stuff? Nothing. How do you get it wrong? Jesus doesn't love me. I don't know.

02:37:26 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 5:

By the way, shout out to Kobe, who is one of our frequent texters, who says, go to Qdoba. They never have a problem. You want to know why they never have a problem? Because they have never customers. Nobody in there. Nobody in there. It's young. Hold on. Kev's sister Melinda is on the phone with us right now. What's going on, Melinda? Buenos dias. Wait, are you also a Chipotle fanatic like your brother Kevin is?

02:37:51 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

Mucho gusto Mexicano comidas. Todos ustedes. Did you know she can speak Spanish? I have no idea. Shout out to all the Latin community that listens to 955. Yay. We love it. We love it. But Chipotle's amazing. Like, who doesn't love Chipotle? I know. Do you not love Chipotle? No, I love it.

02:38:12 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 4:

That's why I'm so passionately angry that they can't do the most basic of meal for me any time that I go in there.

02:38:18 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 5:

Do Mexican people like Chipotle, though?

02:38:20 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 4:

Probably not. Good question.

02:38:21 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 5:

I always wonder, like, do you look at Chipotle as, for some reason, Melinda, you hung up the phone, so I have no idea if you got a bad cell or something like that. Call us back. I always wonder that. Like, do they have it? Like, that's what we need. So when I lived back in Tucson, Arizona, we used to have, what was the place called? It was like Taco Locos or Trace Loco, Trace Taco, and it was a Trace Amigos, El Pollo Loco. That's a chain, isn't it? It was in Breaking Bad.

02:38:49 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 3:

There is a Pollo Loco, something on the West Coast. What is it called?

02:38:52 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 5:

No, but they had something, and it was a drive-thru taco place, and it was amazing.

02:38:57 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 3:

No, we have that here.

02:38:58 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 5:

Del Taco, I can't get into it.

02:39:00 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Del Taco sucks. El Pollo Loco is a restaurant chain. Yeah, you're right, Shannon.

02:39:04 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 5:

But the one on Breaking Bad, it was not an El Pollo Loco, wasn't it? It was like they switched it around just a little bit?

02:39:10 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 3:

No, it's El Pollo Loco. Was it El Pollo? I had a sticker on my car. No, it was Los Polos Hermanos. Hermanos.

02:39:16 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:39:17 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jesus Christ. Yes.

02:39:19 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 5:

Or Jesus Cristo.

02:39:22 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 4:

I am here.

02:39:25 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm here.

02:39:26 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 3:

So I have something similar to this, but it wasn't with food. What was it? Does that still count?

02:39:29 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 5:

Okay, what was it?

02:39:30 - 02:40:24 | Speaker 3:

And girls, I feel like, will understand this. It was nails. So before I discovered the nail place that I go to and now have gone to for a year, and I love them. But I would go to this same little nail place that was right by my house because it was so convenient and I knew that they would be fast. I walked out of there nine times out of 10 hating how they did my nails. They screwed them up. I didn't, I, you know, I didn't like something. And every time I would say, never again, I'm not going back. It is not worth the money. And what would I do every time I needed to get my nails done for something? Go there. it was so convenient can i say that there's a cookie chain that i will not throw under the bus that underbakes their dough so severely that i've gotten food poisoning there multiple times multiple times it's coming out runny you guys can we put it in for more than 30 seconds and that's all i gotta do i know what you're talking about i love that place oh that place is disgust if your cookie melts into the box you didn't leave it in the oven long enough madeline what's

02:40:24 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 2:

going on hi we're talking about uh i always get screwed but i keep going back good morning you

02:40:30 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 4:

guys the brighton starbucks oh my god it's horrible it takes 30 plus minutes to get a drink doesn't matter if you pre-ordered it or not they've locked their doors on people midday just because they can't do it i don't know and the drinks are always horrible like is that the

02:40:48 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 2:

one just off 96 because i think i've been there i thought it was okay oh no it's awful

02:40:54 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 4:

i'll get always the vanilla sweet cream cold brew and somehow they forget the sweet cream

02:41:01 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 2:

oh my god misfit victor tells me that the the jimmy johns over in that area always screws up his order too and it's funny because he would complain that is that is true he wants me to call the owner because he's a friend and and say something to him and i'm like yeah okay i'm gonna make a phone call, but then he's like, I tell you, I go there all the time. Maybe it's something about Brighton. Maybe there's something in the water. There's something in the water there. Joaquin, what's up? Joaquin.

02:41:29 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's going on, you guys? First time in a long time.

02:41:32 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo, I just wanted to comment

02:41:38 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 7:

about Chipotle. I'm Mexican, and I love Chipotle.

02:41:41 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 2:

That makes me feel good.

02:41:46 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 3:

I think your community is yelling.

02:41:48 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 2:

Wait, are you, like, true Mexican, or? Like, who's Mexican? Mom, dad, mom and dad, who?

02:41:59 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 7:

So I'm actually Mexican and Puerto Rican. So my mom is Puerto Rican and my dad is Mexican.

02:42:04 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I trust him.

02:42:06 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 7:

All right. No. That's all right. I don't want to throw this out there, Mojo. I'm from Chicago, too. I love you, man. I remember hearing you on the radio on B96 as well. Back in the day.

02:42:18 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what's your favorite taco place, then? I'm going to judge you.

02:42:21 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 7:

My favorite taco place? Yep. Have you guys been to Gijon in Toledo? You heard how you say it, Ben? They used to have a food truck. Oh, okay.

02:42:32 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 3:

All right, I believe you. I can't believe you're backing up Chipotle. All right, I'll take it. I'll take it as word.

02:42:36 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you. I always judge it based in Detroit of when you go to Mexican town and, like, where you go. Sosies, bro. Sosies, no. You ain't bagging with Sosie, no, guys? That's, like, that's the American version of it. Where are you going? I go to, like, somebody's house.

02:42:52 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 1:

Trace leches on Bagley in southwest Detroit.

02:42:56 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 2:

The best tamales ever from our boy.

02:42:59 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 1:

San Marcos, man. San Marcos.

02:43:00 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Maria, hello.

02:43:03 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:43:04 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

02:43:06 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 5:

First of all, first-time caller. Hey, Maria!

02:43:11 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

02:43:13 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I'm 100% Mexican, and I'm sorry, but all those places you named are not Mexican food.

02:43:19 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 2:

What? Taco Bell? What do you like? What's yours?

02:43:25 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry?

02:43:26 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 2:

What's your favorite, then?

02:43:28 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Like, real Mexican food from a real Mexican restaurant.

02:43:32 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Well, the only real Mexican food is the lady that literally is hand-making tamales in the back with the masa and all that.

02:43:42 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 5:

I agree. Even if you go to a taco truck, that's more real than Taco Bell or Chipotle or Chaydova.

02:43:48 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but they don't have Doritos, they'll go tacos.

02:43:51 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 2:

When I used to live in Tucson, there was a lady that used to be on Speedway. it was like Speedway and Alvernon and she would sell them out of the back of her little Chevy

02:44:04 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 5:

out of the back of their truck

02:44:07 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 2:

that's how Jimmy started

02:44:09 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 1:

he would sell them from a cooler

02:44:11 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 2:

Mexican Jimmy would bring them into the studio all the time and we would love him and they finally opened up his own restaurant which is nice which is what Chana was talking about the Trace Locos Trace like Chase Trace Locos is again Breaking Bad Tom what's up Tom

02:44:27 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 6:

So in Novi, they have El Heredora, straight by Kroger over there. Oh, really? The best Mexican food.

02:44:34 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 2:

I've never tried it.

02:44:35 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 6:

What city? Yep. Novi. Novi. Oh, okay.

02:44:39 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 2:

And it's called El Heredora.

02:44:41 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 6:

There's good Mexican food at Novi?

02:44:43 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 2:

Which is Spanish for Tom eats a lot of rice and beans here.

02:44:50 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 6:

I'll tell you what, it's just the best. If you guys go to a good family Mexican restaurant, you're getting the best food. Yeah. I'm with that. I'm hungry now.

02:44:58 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

We're going to love it.

02:45:00 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 4:

I love jalapenos, by the way. Jalapenos in Pontiac and Clarkson right by Pine Knob. What's up, Brittany? Don't be shaking your head. You've never been there. Hey, good morning. What's up, Brittany?

02:45:10 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Hey. What's going on? So, I get to go to social locals in Detroit. Talk to them. We sell Western shirts. Listen, no. Oh, absolutely not. Oh, no. Oh, no. No, no, no, no. No, don't tell us.

02:45:21 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 4:

I actually don't want to know. Yeah, I don't want to ruin it. No, no, no. You're not ruining me eating. I don't care. I'm going to be here today.

02:45:29 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 3:

I don't need to know. I don't want to care. I don't care. I don't need to know what's in a hot dog.

02:45:34 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 4:

I do not go to restaurants during the day for a reason. I go at night only when it's dark outside.

02:45:41 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 3:

Just drink when you go there.

02:45:42 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 4:

Exactly.

02:45:43 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 3:

How dare you? How dare you?

02:45:45 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 4:

This is good stuff.

02:45:47 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 5:

Let me introduce to you Mojo in the Morning. Super talented and bilingual.

02:45:53 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 4:

My name is Jose Crevo. I just need some dinero from hotel room.

02:45:57 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 5:

Good job there, Moho.

02:46:01 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. We're going to give you Tate McCray tickets. Text to win. Text Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500. For your shot to win, text Tate to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. Tomorrow morning, back with Kendrick Lamar tickets at 630 and Jonas Brothers tickets at 730.

02:46:22 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:46:24 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 4:

We'll see you tomorrow, guys. Have a great day, everybody. No, you got to do the dirty. We're on still. We got a lot of show left. What's going on, Shannon?

02:46:32 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 2:

I just want to mention this very quickly in case you're a crazy person like I am. And you know that today is the day that Megan Sussex's As Ever collection goes live. All of her culinary items is all sold out. Guys, just went to the website and checked, except for the crepe mix. So I'll save you the visit to the website. What kind of stuff is she selling? Already all sold out. What is it called? The honey, the raspberry spread, the flower sprinkles, the ginger tea, hibiscus tea, as ever. Oh, okay. Yeah, it went real quick. All right, so Justin Bieber, he's been in the dirty for the past couple of weeks for not so great reasons, but Liebers are very worried about him. And yesterday, we kind of got a little bit of fuel to the fire of this rumor that there's something going on in his marriage to Haley. and over the weekend he did this kind of bizarre live stream that had fans raising an eyebrow where he wasn't looking very healthy and he was was it a playboy cardi song i think i think it was off his new album and he was very specifically mouthing the lyrics to it and then he posted some things on his instagram story yesterday a meme showing a man mocking his girlfriend in the midst of an argument and then another of a guy sitting in a car in the passenger seat of a car with the caption me acting non-salon after an argument to make my bae more mad and so people are going is this is he you know doubling down on these rumors that something's up between him and Haley I don't know for the record also yesterday Haley coming out to dispel the rumor that she unfollowed her husband on Instagram she said she absolutely did not it was just a glitch Days after Morgan Wallen caused some controversy by walking off SNL during the show's closing credits. Now we're hearing there is more to that story. Apparently, he was supposed to be a part of a musical sketch called Big Dumb Line. And if you watched this past weekend, it was the skit with guest host Mikey Madison, Bowen Yang, Chloe Fineman. Joe Jonas was a part of this thing. It parodied the wait times of all of these viral pop-up stores that are happening around New York City. well that was supposed to be Morgan Wallen he turned it down didn't want to do it so Joe Jonas stepped in for him

02:48:51 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 4:

do you think they were upset with him and he's like I'm out of here I'm here to perform this

02:48:56 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 2:

well two things there did something happen during the week that caused him to back out of that sketch that sketch early on and also yeah was that the reason that the cast was standing so far back it's kind of a move saying you know we don't like you that much I don't know But also, he is capitalizing on the caption from his Instagram story that was posted after he walked off the set on Saturday evening. Get me to God's country, which was written over the image of a private jet on the runway. You can buy hats and T-shirts on Morgan Wallen's official website with that quote. Got me to God's country on them.

02:49:29 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 4:

He needs to drop a song. That'd be the title.

02:49:33 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 2:

Meghan Trainor addressing the conversation surrounding her new very slimmed down appearance on Instagram. she admitted that mongero everybody says mongero so do i but it's it's spelled mongero mongero

02:49:47 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 4:

whatever i think it's mongero mongero mongero mongero whatever that drug is what has helped

02:49:54 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

her shed some pounds after her second pregnancy and she said look i know people are talking about

02:50:00 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 5:

She was at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. And everybody was only asking her about how she lost the weight versus focusing on her decade of work in the music industry. So she's just coming out to say, it was this. It has helped me. It has helped me become a better parent, a better wife. And she's feeling like her best self right now. This isn't the first time she talked about it. It's not. She talks about it on her podcast. I don't know if maybe she wasn't specific about what the drug was, but that's it in case people were worried. She had her boobs done, too. She's very proud of that. How do you say it? Monjaro.

02:50:32 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Monjaro. Monjaro. Okay. I know.

02:50:36 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, I love this. I love the Good American brand of jeans. Really, really great, by the way. Khloe Kardashian's brand, if you haven't tried them. Dolly Parton has partnered up with Good American to release. Are you ready for it? Dolly's Jolene's. Hell yeah. Beyonce can't have nothing. Dolly's Jolene's. Dolly said, I am inspired by Good American's ability to create clothes that make women feel confident and ready to shine. So the new denim will be available at Nordstrom or on the Good American website in April. She's seen Beyonce ass and them Levi's and said, I got to get some Good American. Dolly's Jolene's.

02:51:16 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 2:

At some time, doesn't Dolly just need to like retire? She's got her hand in too much.

02:51:21 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 5:

She's the new Betty White. No.

02:51:23 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 2:

But Betty never seemed like she made a ton of money off of the stuff.

02:51:28 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 5:

But she started becoming a part of a lot of things.

02:51:32 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She's the Kim Kardashian. Like Kim Kardashian has to have her hand in everything.

02:51:38 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 4:

There isn't a single celebrity who is not donating more of their money to make this a better place to be.

02:51:44 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 2:

You know why they're doing that, though, Megan? You understand that?

02:51:46 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 4:

Don't say she's dying.

02:51:47 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 2:

No, they're doing it because you get tax credits for it. They do it to pay for their taxes that they have to pay.

02:51:53 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 4:

You're right. Nobody should donate money ever.

02:51:55 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 2:

No, but there's a whole point of the whole deal. What's his name? Elon Musk was talking about all the money that he doesn't have to pay taxes on because he goes and he donates all the profits off of the money he makes.

02:52:09 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 5:

Or she's just a good person. Man, who's looking at her?

02:52:13 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 2:

Who's looking at her like, yeah, sell me some jeans?

02:52:17 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 5:

She's got a banging little body. Dude, she's like 8,000 years old. Plus, the name is so cute, Dolly's Jolene's.

02:52:22 - 02:52:26 | Speaker 2:

Are they older women that are buying them, or do you think she makes people like your age buy them?

02:52:26 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 5:

Good American is for us. Yeah, a good American is definitely for a younger demo, but I'll check them out. She'll be awesome. All right, for all of today's dirty, catch it by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

02:52:38 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 6:

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene. I'm begging of you, please don't take my man.

02:52:46 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 1:

02:53:07 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 6:

Me, I'm a super fly. Super duper fly. I can't stand the rain.

02:53:13 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 2:

I can't stand the rain. I can't stand it.

02:53:19 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 5:

This is the song you picked for Rain.

02:53:22 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 2:

This is Missy Elliott. Don't you dare make me.

02:53:26 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 5:

Let the rain fall down. Hilary Duff. No, this is the one. Are you kidding me? Aquarius something. It's raining men. Come on. There's so many better songs.

02:53:35 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 2:

No, it's this one or it's the Mary J. Blige and Ja Rule.

02:53:39 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 5:

Rihanna Umbrella.

02:53:41 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 2:

Umbrella. Yeah, listen. I pick a song because I want to just get it out. Rain. We're going to have flooded basements. We're going to have flooded streets. We're going to have flooded everything.

02:53:50 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 3:

Do we have aqueous transmission? This is the song I put on in the car when I drive in the rain. It is the perfect song for driving in the rain.

02:53:57 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 2:

See, it's interesting because I turn music off. I actually turn everything off when I'm driving this.

02:54:01 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 3:

Go to a high incubus.

02:54:03 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 2:

I can't wait to go home and get in a beer. I got to concentrate. I got to make sure that I'm not going to be off the road.

02:54:09 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 5:

It helps. It's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

02:54:12 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:54:13 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 5:

I have therapy today. I'm going to cozy up with a blanket and just tell her all my deep, dark secrets.

02:54:18 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 2:

I'd fall asleep. I've done that before. I've done therapy from home, and I'd be in bed doing it. And then the phone's hung up, and Dennis sends me a text and says, hey, we should probably do a reschedule. You fell asleep 10 minutes in.

02:54:32 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 3:

Do we trust Soup dropped off? I think you're good. Who is it? I don't know. A listener?

02:54:37 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Do they door dash this to us? Yes. Who is it? Do we know who it is? I don't know.

02:54:42 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 6:

They didn't put the name on it.

02:54:43 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 5:

It was very sweet of you. Do I eat it? I had some French fries.

02:54:47 - 02:54:51 | Speaker 2:

A listener door dashed, if you were that listener, call us up. That was very sweet of you.

02:54:51 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, who was it? I love you.

02:54:52 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

02:54:53 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 3:

That's Seth.

02:54:53 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 2:

Wait, are you, that's Seth? Seth?

02:54:55 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 3:

Shout out to Seth. Who's Seth? I'm going to call him right now. He DM'd me on Instagram.

02:54:58 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Does Seth like us, though?

02:55:00 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 1:

Before we meet her. Before we do it. That was the best. Because here's the prop. Here's the prop. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

02:55:05 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

Enjoy it, Megan.

02:55:08 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 1:

Enjoy your last day on Earth. This is for Megan. A stuffy nose and dick.

02:55:15 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. No, you can miss for you. Did you say a stuffy nose and dick? Or did you say death? Yeah, that's definitely what I said.

02:55:21 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 1:

Death.

02:55:21 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 3:

What is that? I'm like, a death. Okay.

02:55:25 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 1:

What's funny is I was going to find something to pour this into so we could share. But if you're going to...

02:55:29 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 3:

No, you eat it yourself.

02:55:30 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 1:

It's on your own. Just in case it's filled with culture scene. I don't eat listener food. You know what? Fingers crossed. I hope it takes me out. I hope this is the most delicious soup that also kills me.

02:55:43 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 3:

My worry is they listen to us and J Towers, and they want us dead because they see our ratings.

02:55:49 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 1:

Dude, this is worth dying for. That's fine. It's probably amazing. What's in that broth?

02:55:55 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 3:

Cyanide. Tell Seth we said thank you, okay? because I'm going to move on and get to some. Oh, my God.

02:56:01 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 1:

Where is this from? I need to order this.

02:56:03 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Call Seth and ask Seth.

02:56:06 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Call Seth.

02:56:07 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, I got to get to this topic before it gets too late because this topic is one of those ones. Every week we have a topic that's on our list, and the topic never gets to because Lydia schedules it for a time that nine out of ten times we don't get to it because we have other stuff going on. This topic is one that has been scheduled for multiple days, and I think it needs to be done today because this is a good topic. Kevin, this morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show, you guys remember he had that girl that stayed at his place?

02:56:38 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes. No, I need an update. No idea what you're talking about.

02:56:41 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 3:

What you missed was he had a stranger, somebody that he only knew for a couple of weeks. Crazy. He let her sleep over at his house. He comes in in the morning and tells us this. So we go on the air saying that all his stuff's going to get ripped off. he left her at the house yesterday that is wild i know i would never do that don't believe this man he he left her at the house yesterday this is true only to come home and find what when you came home what you're talking about the bed oh she made the bed no but she you said what did you say how she made it she made it beautifully she you said she made a hotel she made it ritz

02:57:15 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 2:

carlton yeah she made it like the ritz i'm talking about five star top of the line she had the the pillows all propped up nice, knew the right position to put them in, had the comforter flipped with the sheet on top of the comforter in a nice little rectangular shape.

02:57:28 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that sweet? I'm telling you. Only for you to have to pull all the stuff off because you had another girl spend the night last night and you had to clean the sheets. A different girl?

02:57:37 - 02:57:44 | Speaker 2:

Why are you doing this? Some stuff, some stuff, this is my best friend though. This is nothing sexual. So why is she sleeping

02:57:44 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 3:

in your bed? Don't you have a guest room?

02:57:46 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 2:

Put her on Josiah's bed. Well, no, hell no. Nobody's sleeping in there but Josiah. That's his room. I got to be respectful for Josiah's room.

02:57:52 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 1:

So you're not being respectful with her.

02:57:54 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am. No. Joe just needs his own space.

02:57:57 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, if she's just sleeping there, he's not going to know.

02:57:59 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's a strictly platonic relationship.

02:58:02 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so.

02:58:03 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 2:

You are crazy. Why? Well, by the look on your face, I don't believe you.

02:58:08 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 3:

What did he say earlier this morning?

02:58:10 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 2:

There ain't nothing you can't bring up on the radio. I mean, I'm not denying it, but where's the code? But if she showed up next to your bed in the middle of the night. I'll introduce her. I'll be like, this is my friend. Oh, you're talking about, oh, okay, okay. Well, now it's party. See, this is why I need that spreadsheet I was saying earlier, okay?

02:58:33 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, Lydia, what are you smelling? I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust.

02:58:39 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 2:

Does that excite you at all or no? No, bro. Can I tell you something that happened, though? Yeah. Um, this, she asked me to do, this is, this is the real one that I'm interested in. Not my best friend. She asked me to do something while there was a cookie activity taking place. And I've never had anybody ask me to like slap them before. And it totally caught me off guard.

02:59:06 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yeah. So I, it's funny about the slapping thing. Like, I don't understand the whole, I want you to slap my booty or something. You know, it's like, like, what is the deal with that? First off, if you're a guy slapping a girl's booty and she doesn't tell you, slap my booty and you just do that, you're going to might be punched in the nose afterwards.

02:59:27 - 02:59:48 | Speaker 2:

No, you're not. She liked that. She didn't want, she wanted me to smack her in the face. What? Yeah, she wanted me to smack her in the face. That's why I like that. You slap ass all the time. Slapping in the face was something I've never been asked before. I don't like that. She said, smack me in my face. And I'm like, how hard do you want me to smack you? I'm like, what if I smack it too hard? She was like, I'll tell you if it get too hard.

02:59:49 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 3:

She's setting you up for a domestic thing. I know. You got to be careful with that.

02:59:52 - 02:59:54 | Speaker 2:

I feel like unless you're in a very safe relationship.

02:59:54 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't even do that. Be very careful. Guess what? I did it. Oh, no. And I liked it. Really?

03:00:00 - 03:00:01 | Speaker 4:

More than once. I'm like, ooh, I kind of like this.

03:00:01 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you, there's a couple of things I will never do with my wife, obviously because she won't ever let me do it, but I will never, ever strangle her if she says to me, hey, I want you to strangle me. Because you know why? Yep. What happens if she dies that night and they find my hands around her neck? Guess who I am? Don't choke that heart. I'm, what's his name? Scott Peterson. Who are some of the guys that murdered their wives? You never choke, Chelsea? Never. First off, you know if I choke Chelsea, do you know that she would literally cut my D off?

03:00:36 - 03:00:48 | Speaker 4:

No, she might like it. Nah. Squeeze just enough to feel the pressure. You're not trying to kill her. She'd chop that thing right off. Talk to him, Shannon. Shannon, you like to get choked. Look at her. That's why she quiet this whole time. Bring Wes in here.

03:00:48 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 3:

No.

03:00:51 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 2:

So what do you think? I don't like the idea that she wants to be smacked.

03:00:55 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 4:

She'd like it rough, I guess. Yeah. Oh, man. I've never had anybody say smack me in my face.

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 3:

Did it turn you on?

03:01:02 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 4:

It did. I kept doing it.

03:01:03 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 2:

I want to do it again. I can't wait to do it. Well, you got to make sure that she's wanting it.

03:01:08 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she opened the door. I don't think that's a one-time occurrence.

03:01:11 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 2:

How hard? I heard her like.

03:01:13 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 4:

Slap my arm. Oh, that's hard.

03:01:15 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on, Jen.

03:01:16 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 4:

Let's slap my arm. I want to see. I was like. Oh. That hurts. That's hard. That's hard. That's going to leave a red spot. She told me that was too hard, and then I took a little bit off. Yeah.

03:01:27 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 2:

So she did it multiple times.

03:01:29 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm into, like, whatever you're into, but I don't feel like, I just feel like, that just feels like you're harming somebody.

03:01:37 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't like it. I don't like it.

03:01:39 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 4:

That's what she liked, though.

03:01:40 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 2:

To me, that's not sexual. Unless, you know, if you're somebody into it, you got to tell us why you're into that, because that just seems like.

03:01:46 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 4:

It seems degrading.

03:01:46 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 2:

It's punishment, yeah.

03:01:47 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:01:48 - 03:01:51 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, Regina. Regina's mad at me about something. What are you mad at me about?

03:01:52 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 3:

Come on, Joe. You can't be putting Kevin's business all out on the radio. Regina. He is a single man, and you putting his business all out there about how many women, what women coming over, what night, and all that good stuff. You can't do that. You're supposed to be the wingman.

03:02:07 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 4:

Come on, Regina. Talk to your boy.

03:02:10 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest with you with Kevin? He said on the air, 722 in this day of the Lord, you can say anything you want about whatever you want. And he gave me the free okay to do it, just like that girl gave him the free okay.

03:02:28 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 3:

That has got to be in the bro code. That has got to be in the bro code. There is no code in radio, let me tell you.

03:02:34 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Regina, what do you think of the fact that this girl wants to be smacked, not on the ass, but wants to be smacked in the face? My arm's still hurting.

03:02:41 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so, like, my husband is into that, but I don't get down like that. You're going to have a whole fight in the middle of some bacon cookies.

03:02:49 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's craziness.

03:02:50 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 4:

Has he ever done that to you? What was, like, the first time that it happened?

03:02:56 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 3:

It was some years ago. And it was very lightly, but I was like, no, bro. You can't. Nope.

03:03:05 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're not smacking me.

03:03:06 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 3:

He has tried it since then, but, yeah, no, it blows the move for me.

03:03:12 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:03:12 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Get some smackers on the line.

03:03:14 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 2:

We got one. Christy. Christy, are you there?

03:03:18 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

03:03:19 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 2:

Christy, you like to be smacked?

03:03:23 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to say, get it. Get it, Kevin. Get it.

03:03:27 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 4:

Talk to us, Christy.

03:03:28 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 2:

What is it about it that you like?

03:03:31 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. It's like a dominant thing. I don't know. I just, it's got to be comfortable. It's my husband. We've been together, I don't know, 17 years.

03:03:42 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:03:43 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

But I'm also the one I called a couple weeks ago, and we bake cookies like four times a week still.

03:03:47 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 2:

so yeah that is by the way that's but so you guys are got to come up with new things to do

03:03:52 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 1:

because they slap in each other there's a way to give away dominance without being hit but it's not like super hard it's like i don't know it's it's like a i don't know yes if you don't like it you don't like it but don't knock it till you try it and i would say we we know

03:04:10 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 4:

intention matters and i think the intention is there if that's what your partner likes is a little bit of a rougher experience and they know that your intention is not to harm them but to please them and that's the way they like pleasure in my mind it's no different than somebody who like getting smacked on the ass and some people do it with you know leather some people do it with you know lips and chains some people do it with hands and they like that type of pressure and pain you know people that do it with chains you've seen the movies oh my god i know i don't i don't

03:04:45 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 2:

look at those movies what's going on 50 shades of gray where we go what's what's up cheryl hi

03:04:49 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

hi i was gonna agree with kevin to an extent uh i mean getting slapped in the face might be a little too much for me but

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 2:

But, like, on my butt or on being choked a little, it's such a turn-on.

03:05:08 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 1:

That's what I meant. I'm totally into that. There just seems to be some lines. Choking is one of them for me. I don't understand choking in sex at all. And I don't understand slapping in the face. You don't like to get choked? Yeah, I don't understand. No, I find it very scary, quite honestly. Like, very scary. Yes, and I found it very, very scary in a way that it was a complete turnoff, and I did not like the power dynamics. I don't like that.

03:05:36 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. I feel like I'm getting set up for an arrest.

03:05:41 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 1:

Right.

03:05:43 - 03:06:18 | Speaker 4:

You know? I guess it just doesn't work for everybody. Do y'all like getting tied up? Like, would you tie your arms up? I would be afraid that Chelsea would tie me up and leave you. One time we put blindfolds on and I woke up and she wasn't home anymore. I don't know if I like it. Anna, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're finding out that this is Kevin's life. What's going on?

03:06:19 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I said my ex, I liked it when he did it. but my current fiancé, absolutely not. Why? It depends on who it is. I don't know. Just my fiancé, he's such a sweetheart. It's just not him. That's just not his personality. So when he did it, I'm like, no, we're never doing that again. But my ex, that was totally his vibe. Like spit in my mouth and at my face. Quick question for you.

03:06:48 - 03:06:55 | Speaker 4:

Which kid? Which kid? I'll be talking. If you're not completely over your ex, you're going to go back to something like that.

03:06:55 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think that's the case.

03:06:58 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 4:

You think that you think, I don't know, I worry about that. Like, I worry that, do you ever worry about that? Like, your sex is going to become boring because you've done all that stuff?

03:07:07 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 3:

Me?

03:07:07 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:07:08 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, actually, we just talked about this, like, yesterday, actually. But, yeah, I don't think so. we're like past you know like the honeymoon phase whatever you call it we a long time ago and i'm happy like we're happy where our kind of plateau is and we don't feel like we need other people so

03:07:29 - 03:07:43 | Speaker 4:

we're i don't know we're just at this point now or this is it yeah does he know that you uh liked all that stuff yes and he doesn't like look at you differently like oh god geez and we just do

03:07:43 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 3:

missionary when we were first together he would bring it up or be like oh you've been with this many people and then i'm like that's where we're cutting it off right there like you're not gonna

03:07:53 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 4:

bring that up you're not yeah don't bring that stuff up anymore um yeah it's just something interesting that that uh you married the guy that was not the the guy that gave you all that craziness but yet you still talk about it like you really enjoyed it yeah i mean it's good to And why do you say he's not the kind of guy that will do that? What is the story?

03:08:17 - 03:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, have you tried?

03:08:18 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Does he wear, like, Peter Millar or what?

03:08:22 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 3:

No, he's just very, like, the man of few words, very polite, respectful. Like, if he does that, it's just, it doesn't seem right. It wouldn't even be believable. It doesn't feel right.

03:08:35 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:08:35 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:08:36 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 4:

Man.

03:08:36 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 3:

Like, I'm like, this just came out of you? Like, how did, like.

03:08:39 - 03:09:05 | Speaker 4:

That's wild. Interesting. Well, thank you for the call, Anna. I appreciate you so much. She said spit in my mouth. Oh, my God. Paige? Shout out to Anna. Yeah? What's up, Paige? Paige, by the way. Hi. Calling from the suburbs here. Paige, what's up? How you doing? Are you also a slap? By the way, all these people are calling us up, and they're all calling us up, I guarantee you, with aliases. There's no way that they're... Is that your real name?

03:09:06 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, it's not. I knew it. I knew it. She's my first alias, believe it or not. Sorry to out, everybody.

03:09:12 - 03:09:14 | Speaker 4:

Really? Okay. So what's going on, Paige?

03:09:15 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 2:

I had an ex who was into that, and I decided to try it. And I had him slap me really hard in the middle of the climax. And it was the best cooking experience out of this world ever. And my, yeah, and my husband now just won't do it.

03:09:35 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 4:

Again.

03:09:37 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 2:

And he thinks it's degrading. And I'm like, no, just one.

03:09:40 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 4:

But do you think that if that guy, if you could have one more time with the guy that gave you that best climax without your husband knowing about it, the only way he would know is on his deathbed taking his last breath, would you do it?

03:09:56 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 2:

As toxic as it was, probably yes. Oh, all right. Guys, make your girls get the best climax ever. Smack them. No, don't do that. I was just saying. Ask first. Man, oh, man. All right, Paige, alias Paige, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

03:10:16 - 03:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Bye. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

03:10:32 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 2:

03:10:47 - 03:10:51 | Speaker 4:

I literally devoured it. Where is this from? It's so good.

03:10:52 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 3:

It's literally just from Leo's. I tried getting a local place or a local deli. I wanted to get you matzo ball soup because that's like Jewish, you know, the cure to cancer.

03:11:01 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

03:11:03 - 03:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I got off a 12 hour shift and I was like, you know what? I'm exhausted. I want to make their day. Megan's voice did not sound good. So I wanted to make sure that she felt better and that all of you had a smile on your faces and you started off your week amazingly. That is so sweet.

03:11:23 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 4:

It is very, very, very good. And then I just downed it because it was the only warm thing that was nice. Hey, Seth.

03:11:33 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 3:

That warms my heart. I literally text you guys, like, at least once a week. Just a happy message saying, like, I hope you guys have a fantabulous. Hey, are you single? I am.

03:11:46 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Wow. You want me to cough like a toddler on you?

03:11:50 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 3:

I also work at the Mayo Clinic.

03:11:52 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Wait, up in the Rochester Mayo Clinic?

03:11:57 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and then you took a job somewhere else and decided to bring us with. We love it.

03:12:13 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely, and I've actually gotten a lot of people to start listening to Mojo in the morning. Yes! My God!

03:13:12 - 03:13:14 | Unknown:

She was going to have my babies.

03:13:14 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 2:

We'll be up into the mid-50s. Tomorrow's going to be actually nice, though. Tomorrow, we're going to get temperatures that are going to be in the 60s. We do have some winds, though. I guess later in the day it will be windy. Want to win tickets? Listen tomorrow morning to Mojo in the morning for a chance to win opening day tickets. And if we don't give these tickets away, Lydia, I can get right now about $1,000 for these pair of tickets that we have. Who are these tickets coming from, by the way? Do we have to thank anybody or anybody

03:14:26 - 03:14:31 | Speaker 3:

specific? It was from Kim Black Camp. She just gave us that. Shout out to Kim!

03:14:31 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 2:

How the hell has Kim got the tickets and I don't know about that. She's a beast. Don't ask questions, just take. This is brought to you by the beautiful sales department here at iHeartRadio, if you're looking to advertise, you advertise with us, don't you be wasting your money I was talking to a friend of mine, a very good friend of mine he was advertising on the Google and Google sent him a lot of bots, that's all he got, you know what bots are? not paying customers you want to advertise

03:15:00 - 03:17:18 | Speaker 1:

and get real paying people, people that live in your city, Allen Park, Sterling Heights, East Grand Rapids, Sylvania. You want people living in your community, you advertise on iHeartRadio. iHeartRadio. And you call us up here. Matter of fact, I'll tell you what. You personally email me, mojo at iHeartMedia.com, and I will set you up with one of our fine sales people that I trust that I would put my advertising with. So you got a business that you would like to get some people through the door. You got a fine to fines. You hear us talking between me yapping all the time about David Feminino or talking about DTE, Shannon talking about Moran Automotive, Kevin's selling appliances all the time. The sergeant. For sergeant appliances. Megan Sonobello. You know, if you would like us to be the voice of your business or just even have your own voice be the voice of your business, put it on this radio station, mojo at iHeartMedia.com. I'll put you in touch. You know who I'll put you in touch with as far as a salesperson is concerned? The new hunky guy that's out in front of our door here. What's his name, Jake? Jake. That guy, he's a super stud. First off, I got to tell you something. That guy is like, he's making his mama proud out there selling ads here on this radio station. So we love them. We love these guys. All right. Second date update right now. If you're not getting a call back after you've gone on a date, text DATE to 95500 and we will get you right here on the show. And we will figure out exactly what the hell the problem is. It's the second date update. A mojo in the morning.

03:17:20 - 03:17:23 | Speaker 2:

No, no, I do want to talk to her, and I've just not heard back from her.

03:17:23 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 1:

You guys went out for a nice meal, I heard Fancy restaurant, everything was good

03:17:28 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I took her to a nice restaurant I thought it was good I thought I was very nice and respectful And did everything right And just haven't heard back

03:17:39 - 03:17:44 | Speaker 1:

Alright, Raina's on the phone with us right now We're going to find out what the answer is Raina, are you there?

03:17:45 - 03:17:45 | Speaker 3:

Hi

03:17:45 - 03:17:48 | Speaker 1:

Hey Raina, will you say hi to David?

03:17:50 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Hi David

03:17:51 - 03:18:02 | Speaker 1:

Hi David, reach out and grab her Tell her, say hey, we had some fun Talk to her Tell her what you want

03:18:02 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 2:

I thought we had a great date And I would love to see you again But I haven't heard from you So I just wanted to find out what was going on Or if I did something wrong

03:18:12 - 03:18:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we had a nice date It was fine Just fine? It started really, really nice. I really enjoyed the restaurant.

03:18:29 - 03:18:34 | Speaker 1:

Did you enjoy the restaurant? Did you enjoy the company? Did you have fun with David?

03:18:36 - 03:18:55 | Speaker 3:

At times. I mean, I feel like he is just like a little too immature for me. In what way? um he just like kept making like inappropriate sex jokes at the table and i guess i just felt

03:18:55 - 03:18:59 | Speaker 1:

like embarrassed and uncomfortable david you were making inappropriate sex jokes

03:18:59 - 03:19:10 | Speaker 2:

um i mean i guess a few i was just trying to like kind of be funny and try to break the ice what was he saying reina

03:19:10 - 03:19:35 | Speaker 3:

like examples sure yeah can you can you share sure so like he had he had like ordered chicken and then he was like your breasts are probably gonna taste better than this chicken um like i was drinking from a drinking from like a straw and you want to see how far the straw would go into it. Oh, okay.

03:19:37 - 03:19:40 | Speaker 1:

David, were you drinking? What the hell?

03:19:43 - 03:19:44 | Speaker 3:

I think that, like, yeah, we had some drinks.

03:19:46 - 03:19:51 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I know, but... Were you, like, dumbfounded when he said those things to you?

03:19:53 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Uh, yeah, I mean, I guess I was just, like, embarrassed and felt awkward about it, and, um, I guess, like,

03:20:00 - 03:20:06 | Speaker 7:

The thing that was the Shalderberg camel's back was when he was, like, stirring mac and cheese and was like, is this going to sound?

03:20:06 - 03:20:36 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

03:20:36 - 03:20:41 | Speaker 4:

I was just nervous and trying to lighten the mood, but I guess it didn't work.

03:20:42 - 03:20:53 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you got a sense that she felt uncomfortable at a certain point, though. She's not laughing at me. Were you acting as though the jokes were funny, or did you show him that you weren't comfortable with these words?

03:20:55 - 03:21:08 | Speaker 8:

I feel like I was, I mean, I feel I'm so shocked by it. I can't remember my exact reaction other than a, oh, okay, kind of vibe. but like in the moment I guess I could have been more I don't like that but I guess I was just so

03:21:08 - 03:21:16 | Speaker 2:

baffled by it wow that's crazy um that would make me very uncomfortable and also very turned off

03:21:16 - 03:21:27 | Speaker 6:

so I agree with you David uh David you regret that now or do you look at that and go geez Is this a learning lesson for you?

03:21:29 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. I mean, I guess I was just nervous. And I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable. But, yeah, I definitely will try not to do something like that again.

03:21:41 - 03:21:47 | Speaker 6:

Dirty Davey. Shelly wants to comment. What's up, Shelly? Hi. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. What's going on?

03:21:48 - 03:22:02 | Speaker 9:

I got to tell you, as a grown woman, if I was sitting at a table with him and he talked to that, I would literally slap him across the face and get up and walk out. like a joke is a joke but when you make it personal about someone that's that's not okay

03:22:02 - 03:22:09 | Speaker 6:

yeah that was uh unbelievable well a good joke is a joke those aren't even good jokes but

03:22:09 - 03:22:14 | Speaker 9:

no no that is not a joke at all that's harassment and completely inappropriate

03:22:14 - 03:22:25 | Speaker 6:

um david uh did apologize so i will give him that and and say uh reyna do you accept his apology or Or do you, are you good with that or no?

03:22:25 - 03:22:32 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I accept the apology, but I think that maybe the maturity for me is just like not what I want in a partner.

03:22:32 - 03:22:37 | Speaker 6:

How old are you, David? I'm 24. Okay.

03:22:37 - 03:22:38 | Speaker 7:

I said Reina, sorry.

03:22:38 - 03:22:39 | Speaker 6:

Now, how old are you, Reina?

03:22:40 - 03:22:41 | Speaker 7:

28.

03:22:41 - 03:22:49 | Speaker 6:

You're 28 and David's, well, that's, is a 28-year-old, like the maturity level of a 28-year-old is different than a maturity of a 24-year-old, don't you think?

03:22:50 - 03:22:50 | Speaker 5:

Generally speaking.

03:22:50 - 03:22:59 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I hate to say it, he shouldn't be doing that at 24 years old, but that's still kind of, he might be too young. Ryan, what did you want to say, Ryan?

03:23:01 - 03:23:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, guys? How you doing? Good morning, my boy, David.

03:23:05 - 03:23:10 | Unknown:

Hey, man, you got to eat mac and cheese with your first date and act the same way you do when you eat with your mother, buddy.

03:23:11 - 03:23:18 | Speaker 3:

You can't be acting crazy like that. That's wild. We all know what to sound. I know. Thank you.
