All right, are you ready?

00:02:30 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:02:37 - 00:02:39 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:02:56 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

We'll be right back. Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is so nice to have you here. Hopefully you're listening to us this morning and you're not bailing out water from a basement. It's bad flooding. Still rain, by the way, in the forecast for a little bit here. And then clearing up temperature is going to be in the 60s today. It's what we got right now. It's pretty much going to be our temperature, maybe a little bit cooler than what we have right now. It's actually warm. It was weird waking up. I couldn't drive to work this morning without having my windows fog. Like, I couldn't figure out a temperature or whatever to kind of keep my windows from getting all huffy and puffy. But it was wild to wake up after what was last night, going to bed. I took the garbage out last night. I was trying to wait until as long as I could, and then I thought, there's, like, storms coming. Next thing I know, my garbage cans end up in my neighbor's yard. I go outside. I'm like, oh, it's kind of cold out here. And then the storms took off afterwards, and the temperatures just rose like crazy. Just nuts. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Boy, just hearing this morning in the Detroit area, and then, of course, downriver, and then I believe in some parts of Toledo, too, you guys are experiencing this, too, the heavy flooding. Friends of ours, we actually have coworkers that live in Dearborn that are now dealing with again it seems like it's like year after year after year just bad amounts of flooding so

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 1:

And it's more than just that Heinz Drive that is flooded.

00:05:02 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Every time it sprinkles, Heinz Drive is closed.

00:05:05 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:05:05 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 2:

I got to check on my grandma. What about, like, wasn't a lot of flooding happening in southwest Detroit? Remember the mayor? Well, that was like a pipe broke.

00:05:14 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, okay. That was the main, remember from the cold temperatures and stuff, but that was bad. That was real bad. That was crazy. That was, you know, and then everything turns to ice, and it's just nuts. Opening day, weather is kind of starting to change a little bit. the temperatures seem like they're going to be dropping a little bit cooler or colder in the morning when we're broadcasting tomorrow on the field at Comerica Park. It's funny because you go, oh, it's going to be 50 tomorrow. And you're like, oh, fantastic. But you don't realize it doesn't start off 50.

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's not going to be 50 at 5 a.m. when we get there.

00:05:47 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 2:

What is it going to be? Like 40.

00:05:49 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay. So 40 degrees.

00:05:50 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

We'll be on the field at Comerica Park. Just bundle.

00:05:53 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 1:

But you're going to have to dress warm. You're going to have to wear long johns. Actually, you're going to have to wear- Long johns. You're going to have to layer.

00:05:58 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Zach, Zach, where's Long John's? He does. He loves his Long John's.

00:06:02 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

If you don't layer up, because here's the problem. If you're going to stay and do some bar hopping afterwards, you're going to be sweating your you-know-whats off with all the clothes on.

00:06:13 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of layering Long John's and sweating your balls off, one Christmas, my grandma had the bright idea to buy me boxers that were wool. Wool? Duh.

00:06:25 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

That's like an itching fest waiting to happen.

00:06:28 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I was in, I don't know what grade. I was in a fourth grade the whole time. I'm just, like, I can't wait till I can get home. That was a one and done. Straight to the trash.

00:06:37 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Was it just warm wool or was it, like, wool? It was, like, itchy. It was, like, a sweater.

00:06:43 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

Disgusting.

00:06:43 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, we have tickets to give away. We're going to give away tickets to opening day. If you have never been to an opening day, we want you to be the winner of these. the people that go all the time are usually the ones that have like season tickets or if you're one of those that does what so many of our listeners do and that is just go hang out downtown and hang out at the bars yeah we'll get you tickets to get into the game so be listening tomorrow for a chance to win and uh later this morning here on the show so make sure you're listening uh megan is out sick again today the the audio didn't save on my phone otherwise i'd play it for you but her you if you could hear what her voice sounded like on this she sent a uh like a 3 a.m uh voice text uh to lydia and i and she sounded like uh she didn't have a voice so she's going to be out this morning hopefully she's back tomorrow for uh for opening day but

00:07:37 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's not uh it's not good i don't know that if that's the best idea for her to be sick and

00:07:42 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 1:

then outside in 40 degrees i know and then well and the other thing then she's on she's taking vacation next week so she's like two weeks of next week she's taking next week off yeah

00:07:53 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

so she gotta get healthy for that so she's

00:07:55 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 1:

yeah well and then yeah so they uh it's like a it's like a two week uh sabbatical of no no megan here so uh so feel better megan all right it's mojo in the morning uh shannon said this is a total pain in the ass you you had to deal with uh you had to get new carpet in your house there were some issues with your carpet so you had to get some new carpet it was

00:08:17 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

time yeah the carpet that I had in the house was not conducive to having fast forward 10 years from when I first got it four children and three dogs uh it was so gross so I had uh shout out to the carpet guys by the way because they did a great job but I had to get carpet and I don't even have carpet in most of my house but the bedrooms and my stairs do this is one of those random things that is such like you said a pain in the butt because you have to remove every single thing from the rooms that the carpets are in. And so when it's bedrooms, that includes closets. You have to take everything out of the closet because they can't work with stuff that's hanging, you know, on a bottom rack or shelf or whatever. I'm realizing as I'm taking all this stuff out and now in the process of putting it all back in, and of course I'm in the mood now of cleaning everything out and donating and finally going through stuff, I am embarrassed at some of the stuff that I have been holding on to. For example, the shirt that I wore on my first date ever, not only do I still have it, but I keep it hanging in my closet. Why? I have no idea. Sentimental purposes, but why?

00:09:30 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever wear it past that first date? Yeah. It was just a popular shirt that you liked?

00:09:34 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

It's one of those things that I can't get rid of for some strange reason.

00:09:40 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

And this wasn't like your first date with Wes.

00:09:42 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. I mean, I still have.

00:09:44 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 1:

This is like first date ever. You ever had a first date. In high school. Oh, my God. You have stuff from high school still.

00:09:52 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 3:

Hanging in my closet.

00:09:54 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 2:

That she can fit.

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well. Yeah. That's a flex right there. That was it.

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 4:

wasn't going there but okay that could go all right oh good for you i mean let's be real my

00:10:08 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 1:

boobs are the same size they've been since second grade i don't know how much of a flex that is but okay uh my sorority letter if you've ever been in a sorority you know how how big of a deal it was to get your letter shirts your letter sweatshirts i still have all those why i don't wear any of that crap anymore for the kids i have saved every pair of lucy's first big girl underwear like 12 pairs of underwear with peppa pig on them that i cannot bear to part with why do we save this crap

00:10:42 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 4:

go back to your stuff here for a second are there any listeners that i mean i i get like cap and gown or even that fraternity uh or sorority uh letter maybe but not every single one Who has clothes or things that they had from when they were in high school and are now 40 years old? That to me just doesn't, that seems weird. Why are you keeping all this stuff? You're a hoarder and we didn't know this.

00:11:07 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 1:

I say I'm turning into my dad because my dad is the same way. He has closets in his house in Allen Park that are just filled with stacked t-shirts from when he was in high school. He has socks from when he went to Cabrini High School.

00:11:22 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 3:

tube socks that's weird the t-shirts might be fired up especially from back then vintage tees he actually just gave me three of them i don't know you don't have anything old i've got old

00:11:34 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

stuff but i sit there and i look at i'm like why do i save it and that's usually the thing i'll go to bed wearing at night but i think after a while at this point right now i wear the same five or six things and i'm at a point right now where i realize i'm just gonna i'm gonna do like a it's going to be like a vacation clothes. You know how when you go on vacation, you just bring like six outfits or five outfits. I'm just going to have five outfits and that's it. Can you imagine

00:11:58 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 1:

how clean your house would be? It's called a capsule wardrobe. It's actually a thing. Really? It's really healthy. What does capsule wardrobe mean? It means that you have, I don't know how many, but let's just say 20 things, a mix and match of tops and bottoms and you make outfits out of those things. It's just a very simple. Is the capsule thing like if I go to space or something or no i think they call it that because it's just it's limited okay it's a limited number of items and it's supposed to clear the clutter that's interesting it so there's that's

00:12:26 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 4:

actually a thing um i i think that too i think that in shoes i was looking today it's funny i've been pulling out my old jordans like about i don't know seven or eight years ago or something like that i've been seeing you i i would wear jordans all the time you know i had fours i loved uh and then the ones and i'm like you know what everybody seems to be wearing their jordans a lot now like i'm gonna wear those jordans and then i realized they're not even comfortable why the hell was i saving them they're so bad they look good and people go i like your shoes and you get a compliment every now and again but what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi what's up mark hey good morning

00:13:02 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 2:

i uh just wanted to let you know that i'm 36 and i still have my graduation card box from high school no with all of my with all of my cards in it really like you're great like all the cards that people gave you at your graduation party really i made it i graduated in 2007 i made a

00:13:23 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 4:

box with my school color man i still have it you know what's funny though i do save like birthday cards and father's day cards from like chelsea and the kids so i can kind of see where you would do But how many of those people there gave you money? And you don't happen to have money in any of that stuff, do you?

00:13:42 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 2:

I go through it yearly just to make sure.

00:13:44 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 4:

Do you remember how much money you got for high school graduation?

00:13:49 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think it was like $2,500.

00:13:50 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

That's great. Yeah, that was always your beer money for your freshman year, right? Absolutely. Or first semester until you got broke. But we're going to capsule that, Mark. We're going to get rid of that stuff. We're stopping hoarding. No more hoarding around here. Have a good morning, guys. Take care, buddy. We'll see you. Tina, what's up, Tina?

00:14:13 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I just had a comment for Shannon about all the shirts that she's been saving. She gets some quilts or blankets made out of them. Yeah.

00:14:23 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 4:

Really? Interesting. Yeah, I just did that with my kids. Would your kid want to cuddle with your first date shirt? um well no well it'd be for her shannon cuddling with her for can you imagine wes wes laying down

00:14:41 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

tell me the story what would be weirder for wes to cuddle with one side of the blanket having the t-shirt and then the other side having the peppa pig

00:14:50 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

have a great day tina thanks tina thanks you too

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 4:

Mia, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:15:03 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 9:

Hello. Hi. Hi.

00:15:05 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

00:15:07 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 9:

Oh, okay. So I just wanted to tell Shannon, um, Shannon, I am a 22-year-old girl, and to this day, I have always wished that my mom saved her clothes from high school. Oh, my gosh. I would have wore those. Oh, yeah. And I would have loved them. Yeah, my dad was not that stylish, though. She won't care. I trust me. Oh, you're saying my stuff. Yes, yes, you will appreciate those when she's older.

00:15:33 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 4:

It is funny, though. Like, wouldn't you wear, would you wear a Cabrini shirt from your dad's high school? It would be kind of cool, wouldn't it?

00:15:39 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, well, my dad gave me, my dad gave me some shirts. He does this thing up in, like, Tawas every year since he was in high school called the Perchville Polar Dip, where he and a bunch of his buddies get drunk and jump into the water. And he gave me some of that stuff, which is so my dad. Yeah. And it's so cool looking. What if Lucy goes on her first date and wears the shirt that you wore on your first date? It's ugly. She wouldn't. I hope she wouldn't.

00:16:04 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 4:

That just seems weird. That would be very weird. Robert, are you there? Yep. Robert says that he knows for a fact that he has underwear from 2014 still. Is that right?

00:16:19 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, so the reason I know that and the reason I have it is because it's 2014 FIFA World Cup, the one that was in Brazil. And you still have it? Yeah, it's not that I use it or I wear it, it's just there and it's like...

00:16:39 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 2:

Can't find my favorite underwear. Pair with a hole in the left butt cheek from when I held it in for two hours because it was that extra long Palm Sunday church sermon and I thought blowing gas would offend Jesus, so I let it go in the vestibule after Mass and it sounded like Louis Armstrong.

00:16:54 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 4:

2014. That's amazing, Robert. You got it.

00:16:58 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I should keep it or toss it, but it's kind of like a memory now. It brings back memories.

00:17:04 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 4:

I didn't realize that they actually have underwear for, like, sporting. Like, that's interesting. Like, can you buy Tigers or Pistons or Red Wings or Lions or Michigan, Michigan State underwear?

00:17:15 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm sure you can. They make everything. Maybe on Etsy.

00:17:19 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that wild? All right, thanks for the call, Robert. Appreciate it, man.

00:17:23 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:33 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 4:

That's one of those pairs of underwear that when you run out of clean underwear, you're like, oh, I guess I got to wear my FIFA underwear today. Whitney Houston cleared up rumors in this year about her using crack.

00:17:47 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 1:

First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap.

00:17:51 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 4:

Crack is whack.

00:17:52 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 1:

I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight, okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is whack.

00:18:01 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Austin Powers' gold member was the big movie. Wow, this is back when.

00:18:05 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 8:

Gold! The look of it. The taste of it, the smell of it, the texture.

00:18:13 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 7:

I love gold so much that I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate smelting accident. Hence the name, Goldmember.

00:18:24 - 00:18:33 | Speaker 4:

Are those movies funny still? Like, can you watch those movies and still laugh? Maybe. Let's do it. Austin Powers movies. And the big song. Remember Avril Lavigne?

00:18:34 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 1:

I loved Avril.

00:18:37 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You know what? You can wear your first date shirt listening to Avril Lavigne's Complicated. What year was this? We'll set you up with Nellie Ja Rule, Chingy, Eve tickets. Good luck.

00:18:51 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 6:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Oh, he cheated on his wife with you? And now you're going to be together forever? Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. What year was this?

00:19:15 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're giving away some concert tickets right now. Back in the day, three clues, same year. Whitney said crack was whack in this year.

00:19:23 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 1:

First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever sell crack. Let's get that straight, okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Your crack is whack.

00:19:37 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 4:

Goldmember, the Austin Powers movie came out.

00:19:40 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 8:

I love gold. The look of it, the taste of it, the schman.

00:19:46 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes, they're all still hilarious, Mojo.

00:19:48 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 7:

I love gold so much that I even lost my genitalia in an unfortunate smelting accident. Hence the name, Goldmember.

00:19:58 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

00:20:00 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 5:

And the big song, Complicated, Avril Lavigne. Sherelle is on with us right now. Sherelle, what year was that?

00:20:10 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

2002.

00:20:11 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 5:

There it was. Yes. What gave it away?

00:20:17 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 4:

Austin Powers Goldmember, of course. I love those movies.

00:20:20 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 5:

You know what? By the way, they were so classic at the time. You waited for the next one to come out. You couldn't wait for the Mike Myers movies to come out. Congratulations.

00:20:28 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm still hoping.

00:20:29 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 5:

You always say that? You're hoping what?

00:20:31 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm still hoping for them to make another one.

00:20:33 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It's funny. I saw him on SNL, and he was still funny when he was on SNL. I wonder how funny they would be. It's funny. He must have made a crap load of money because he doesn't do anything these days. Really? He just kind of hangs out.

00:20:47 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 1:

He's coming back for Shrek 5.

00:20:49 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Really, is he? Yeah, Shrek 5's going to be out.

00:20:51 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the teaser, the trailer for it? I didn't know. And everybody's going crazy over all the animation changes. Really? Yeah.

00:20:58 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to set you up with tickets to see Nelly with Ja Rule, Chingy, and Eve. Congratulations. That's at Pine Knob, August the 9th. Have a great time, Sherelle. Thank you so much. Hey, you have a great morning. We're giving you tickets to see Kendrick Lamar, SZA at Ford Field. Text to win. Text squabble. Let's do squabble again. Text squabble to 95500. That is squabble to 95500. S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E to 95500. We'll get a look at what's trending right now. Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:21:41 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 1:

Glenn Powell on the today. First, can we just have a moment for Glenn Powell? Whoa, is everything okay, Shannon? I love him so much. But yesterday, it was either yesterday or the day before. I can't remember now. But he was being interviewed by Jenna Bush Hagar, who just came right out and asked him about Sidney Sweeney being at his sister's wedding in Dallas this past weekend and what's going on there? The wedding caused a little bit of a stir.

00:22:04 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 4:

Did that surprise you? You know, timing is everything in this world, isn't it? Your sister was like, dude, I'm getting married. I'm the bride. Yeah, no, I mean, she and Sid are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding. You know, the pals know how to do it right and so all All the people that love her were there.

00:22:21 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 1:

His younger sister and Sidney are really, really good friends. But still, timing is everything. Sidney and Glenn rumored to be dating following her split from her fiancé, Jonathan DeVino. Despite denials from Glenn's own mom, I am hearing that it is absolutely on. They are dating, but she's only talking about it with her closest friends. Blake Lively admits it was her idea to touch her co-star, Henry Golding's private parts, while filming a scene together for the A Simple Favor movie. Somebody on the internet dug up this interview that she did after the movie wrapped, and it's Blake talking to director Paul Feig and her co-star, Anna Kendrick.

00:22:58 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 3:

This is one of my favorite additions that you came up with. I don't know if there was an intimacy coordinator on the set of that movie, A Simple Favor.

00:23:15 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 1:

However, I am told that the scene was planned in advance. There was a discussion about the creative suggestion that Blake grabbed this guy's balls before it actually happened. She didn't just do it in an ad lib fashion.

00:23:30 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Is there controversy to that?

00:23:32 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, this is just people continuing to pile on the we hate Blake Lively bandwagon. So they're finding anything they can to show that she is not a nice person.

00:23:42 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 5:

And a lot of the stuff all kind of keeps coming up right now because of Blake and Ryan and all the rest of that stuff.

00:23:50 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 1:

Justin Baldoni and it ends with us. I mean, this all stems from that.

00:23:53 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 5:

A lot of people believe that, what, that Ryan and Blake were the antagonists to the Justin Baldoni downfalls.

00:24:01 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 1:

Yep, yep. And he got the finger pointed at him at first as being the bad guy. And now everyone's saying, no, no, no, no. Shift your focus. It's actually Blake Lively here. They're the mean girls. Yeah, yep. President Trump unveiled his tariff agenda yesterday, including a minimum 10 percent rate on all trading partners and additional tariffs on countries charging the U.S. more for our exports. And describing the tariffs as reciprocal, the president said they do it to us. We do it to them. Very simple. Couldn't get any simpler than that.

00:24:30 - 00:24:46 | Speaker 2:

April 2nd, 2025 will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America's destiny was reclaimed. and the day that we began to make America wealthy again.

00:24:46 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 5:

The prices are going to start going up on everything. They're saying that all the Timu stuff is going to be going up as early as this morning. It's interesting. I'm still shocked to see this because you don't see this.

00:25:00 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 4:

the UAW president, Sean Fain, in big support of this and wanting to bring back all of those plants that are in Canada and Mexico to the United States because he was so anti-Trump during the election. Yeah. And now he's actually been one of his supporters. And a lot of the workers for the UAW were supportive of this. I was surprised. They had some of them at that press conference yesterday. So because it is going to raise the price of cars. And they're saying that some of the car dealers are going to just put a line And it's going to be called the tariff tax on cars that could be going up. They say, you know, $3,000 to $5,000.

00:25:39 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 2:

This is your favorite and most indestructible president, Donald J. Trump. Another beautiful War of the Roses is coming up very shortly. You won't believe it.

00:25:49 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 4:

Will he tariff the War of the Roses? Will the War of the Roses be tariffed? We might have to actually, we may not be able to play it at 7 o'clock.

00:25:55 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 3:

We may not be able to send flowers anymore. Watch out.

00:25:57 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 4:

What would we send if we didn't do flowers?

00:26:00 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 3:

If flowers get to be too expensive. For us to actually send those dang roses. You only get six roses. Yeah, it's a half dozen now. It is the newest craze on TikTok. Influencers are calling it natural Botox, DIY banana peel scrubs that tighten and brighten the skin. Now, banana peels do contain antioxidants, all sorts of B vitamins that hydrate and protect the skin when applied straight to it. And the inside of a banana peel also has mild exfoliating properties, helping to get rid of any dead skin cells. So it's not that far-fetched. You might look funny doing it, but whatever. Not everybody agrees, though. If you've seen or heard about this, or maybe you've already tried it, Dr. Kate Jameson acknowledges that, yes, bananas are packed with nutrients that could offer some benefits. But she also said, please be careful because unlike professionally formulated beauty care products, banana peels are not stabilized or designed for topical use. And there's also a risk that you could contract a bacterial contamination infection from smothering banana peels on your face. There's this guy on social media. I am not. Come on.

00:27:16 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, it's a guy named Ashton Hall who's been going viral. You might have seen him dunking his face in, like, this Saratoga water. And one of his things is taking a banana peel and wiping it across his face. Really? You've seen a lot of people imitating this, quote-unquote, morning routine. I don't trust.

00:27:31 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 3:

The one I want to try is beef tallow. Yeah. Mike's wife, Allie, swears by beef tallow, like, actual beef. And she has the most beautiful skin ever.

00:27:40 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 4:

I believe this is a joke on all of the women who, for some reason, don't just want to age gracefully. They'll put anything on their body. Like, seriously, next thing you know, you're going to say, I don't know, put a ham sandwich on your... Does anybody ever eat a ham sandwich anymore? You know, like, seriously.

00:27:57 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 5:

A little peanut butter under the eyes.

00:27:58 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 4:

I come home sometimes and my wife's got, like, stickers on her face. I'm like, there's something on your face. Like, what are you doing to yourself?

00:28:04 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 3:

00:36:06 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. That's the thing.

00:36:09 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 3:

What's your reasoning of why you are worried that he's cheating?

00:36:16 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, he's done it before. So there's that. We have been together for two years, and he did cheat on me. Earlier in our relationship. And right now he's in Texas on what he told me is a business trip.

00:36:37 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 3:

And you don't think that he's doing business?

00:36:41 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 4:

I don't think he's doing business. I had a gut feeling that something wasn't right. So I went with my gut. And I put an air tag in his suitcase. and what did you find out he's not at a hotel and that's a problem but he's in texas i don't he's in texas okay he's at a house

00:37:09 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 3:

okay a house that i googled it's just a house not an airbnb so have you have you sent anything to him or you you have this info and you're not saying anything yet no i came straight to you guys that is smart by the way that's crazy putting the air tag in there and to check it out but he's told you i'm staying here and gave you the information like this is where i'm going to be this is my work all this stuff

00:37:40 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 4:

well no he didn't even give me all that he just said i have this business trip that came up and i asked him what is it for and he couldn't give me a straight answer and when i said well where are you staying he goes i haven't confirmed the hotel yet i'm not sure but now he's not at a

00:37:58 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

hotel yeah okay all right we're going to uh give him a call to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses to we're hoping that they go to tessa and you have to just mute your phone so that you don't say anything and and he gets suspicious okay okay all right war of the roses

00:38:20 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 5:

hello hi is this blaze who's this hi blaze my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. I would take part in it myself. We will be, I will be off the phone with you in one minute and it's free flowers that will be sent out today. Do you have anybody in mind that you'd want to send some flowers too you said you said flowers yeah long long stemmed red roses roses the roses it is yeah uh yeah okay okay have you purchased flowers in the past six months displays? No. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Probably not. Okay. 00:40:27 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 1:

whatever this is okay so the thing is when the flowers get delivered we're actually gonna send a text to Megan alerting her that she has a delivery and then we're also gonna have you record a voice note in lieu of a card and that's gonna get sent to her telephone number as well so when she gets the delivery she'll be able to hit play does that make sense

00:40:50 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 4:

hmm you know you know what let me just yeah just yeah just send it to me and

00:40:55 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 1:

00:41:32 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 2:

He hung up the phone.

She's right there.

00:41:39 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

So the person...

00:41:40 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 3:

She just hung up?

00:41:41 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the person who he's sending him to, this Megan. Do you know a person with the name Megan?

00:41:51 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 3:

00:41:55 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 2:

And why are you at the gross house? Who found

00:44:35 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 4:

00:44:49 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Where are you right now?

00:44:52 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm in Texas working.

00:44:55 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't sound like you are because you just answered a phone call from...

00:45:00 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 2:

florists and have time to send flowers to a girl who is literally in a room with you in a house you know i told you i told you i'm working now no don't you're lying to me

00:46:05 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 5:

hi good morning guys good morning what's going on i just wanted to make a comment on when you had you ever put a tracker in or on your significant other yeah air tagged your man i did he's my ex-man though but he was a habitual cheater and a liar so i had bought an apple air tag and i put it in my car in my trunk because he would drive my car all the time when he would leave and so the thing about it is that apple just gives it away though it told him that i had

00:46:41 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 1:

detractor in the car oh it will say an air tag is following you but a lot of times yeah i hate to say it these guys are dumb enough to do it this guy just did they're dumb enough not to notice

00:46:51 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 5:

that or know where it's going where it's coming from but so yeah he no he picked me and was like did you put a tag in the car like yeah i did did you so you didn't you never got a chance to actually catch him ran handed or did you ever no i i mean i caught him but just not by tracking him

00:47:10 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it wasn't through the AirTag.

00:47:11 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 5:

How did you eventually catch him? I went through his phone.

00:47:15 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's a good old phone. Get you every time. Capri, thank you for the call. Appreciate you. Absolutely.

00:47:21 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 5:

00:47:30 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 5:

I sure am.

00:47:31 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's rate her right now. A scale of one to ten, Shannon, what do you think?

00:47:34 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 5:

What are you talking about?

00:47:35 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

How beautiful do you think Capri is?

00:47:36 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 5:

Ten out of ten.

00:47:37 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

She's a ten? Kev?

00:47:38 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go eight, leave some room.

00:47:39 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm saying you're an 11. And I am. All right.

00:47:44 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

00:47:46 - 00:47:55 | Speaker 1:

All right. Love you, Capri. Thank you for calling. Take care of yourself. Khalid, what's going on, Khalid? What's going on? Good morning, guys.

00:47:55 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's up, buddy? So I had a same incident like the previous caller. My iPhone told me I'm being followed with the AirTag. So I never said anything. I ended up turning it off one night and came home, sure thing. My ex-wife wasn't with somebody else.

00:48:17 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 1:

So she was wanting to know when you were going to be home or something?

00:48:23 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 3:

Apparently, yeah. So I just ended up turning it off. Wow. It's like the opposite. Nobody has to access to my car by her. Yeah. Absolutely.

00:48:32 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:48:33 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 3:

Jeez, oh man.

00:48:34 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 2:

Why didn't she just try to convince you to share locations with each other or something?

00:48:37 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't that have been easier, you know? The funny thing is, we already did.

00:48:42 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. So I don't understand. So she definitely wanted to know for sure. She wanted to double the protection. That's crazy. Did you know the person that she was with?

00:48:52 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 3:

No idea. Well, can't with them no more. And good thing came with me. Yeah.

00:48:58 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 1:

By the way, another great option if you don't want to do an air tag because you're worried about whether or not they're going to see the air tag saying you're following is what Kiera did. What's that, Kiera?

00:49:07 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 4:

so i didn't use the air tag but i did leave an air pod in the car on purpose uh yeah and it

00:49:17 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 1:

doesn't say you're following right it's what does it do it doesn't no it would be like if i had my

00:49:24 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 4:

air pod case in the car yes it would say there's air pods like next to you but so i left a air pod

00:49:31 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 1:

so i could track that air pod and then so yeah and then you go look where the air did you catch

00:49:37 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 4:

anybody with that i did i really did it broke my heart so badly i did they were at their ex-girlfriend oh man i'm sorry but you are so smart that's a great yeah i didn't want to get found out

00:49:50 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

you know what though it's interesting i'm gonna tell you that the the next person i'm to pick up here right now has a great response to

00:50:00 - 00:50:06 | Speaker 4:

both tessa and you and all the other people that are putting air tags in there amanda what did you

00:50:06 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 5:

want to say hi i just feel like if you have to air tag your partner because you're suspicious then you already know that you have a problem yeah that's kind of like yeah and i think that

00:50:19 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 1:

tessa realizes that the end all be all yeah honestly i always say that about anybody that reaches out to us to do a war the roses yeah half the time i read these and i'm going why You don't need us.

00:50:30 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But, I mean, every sentence needs its punctuation.

00:50:34 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:50:34 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 3:

And I think that's what proof is for people.

00:50:36 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 4:

Lara, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

00:50:40 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. So I got two things real quick. Me and my boyfriend have always shared our location with one another on Life 360. So we can always see what one another is doing. And then the other thing I want to say, he is definitely cheating on her. literally asked Miss Megan, who was sitting next to him, if she wanted flowers.

00:51:02 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, right. I mean, come on, right? I mean, that was pretty obvious. That was the case. I think we just wanted to know who this Megan was and why she was doing this. But that call, and we've had that happen before when we've called somebody that was out of town or a long-distance relationship, where they're actually with the person at the time. Sean wants to comment on possibly who he's with.

00:51:25 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 2:

what's up sean hey what's up man how y'all doing what's going on hey what's up i listen to y'all every morning y'all already know but anyway uh so my ex uh she used to she had a google tracking thing on my phone and she used to pull up at my house i mean she used to pull up at my auntie house when i was there i used to when i used to go out by myself she would pull she pulled up at my uncle house once thinking i'm doing something my cousin house thinking i was doing something everywhere like everywhere i went bro and you know it was kind of frustrating to me but at the same time i was like okay this is my girl and everything but it just used to it used to earth me like why why you don't trust me like what's going on with this what was she what were you what were you

00:52:11 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 4:

doing that made her feel like she couldn't trust you why is this for okay this is this is the thing

00:52:16 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 2:

this is the thing it was one time when we first got together i was at a hotel party with my friends And she pulled up, you know what I'm saying? And she thought I was doing something there. It was just a little hotel party. And she ain't trusting me after that.

00:52:31 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 4:

But you weren't doing anything, though, right?

00:52:34 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 2:

No, I wasn't doing nothing. I had came from work and went straight to the party because my friend's birthday party. And he had a party at a hotel. And she thought it was something going on because I was at a hotel.

00:52:44 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 4:

All right. We believe you.

00:52:45 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 3:

See, sometimes it'd be these insecurities where the past relationship, you know, is the springboard for honey.

00:52:51 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 4:

Shannon just winked when she said, we believe you. Sean, don't have her.

00:52:55 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 2:

Look, dog. Look, dog. I'm going to check this out. Check this out, dog. I'm going to tell you like this. From her doing all that to me, it made me very, very skeptical about who I'm being, who I'm going to be with. You know what I'm saying? You know, it put a toll on who, you know, I mean, me, myself. Yeah. I get that. It's just like I'm very insecure now.

00:53:16 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, man, get some security, buddy. You sound like a great guy. And I think we've met, haven't we, Sean? Have we met anywhere? Yeah. Yeah, we know you.

00:53:24 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 2:

Just a fight for the Sean. Nah, y'all. Yeah, we know you. Just a fight for the Sean. And Megan got him begging.

00:53:29 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 4:

Megan does. Oh, that's you.

00:53:31 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 3:

I know who you are. She's begging for Dayquil right now. Yeah.

00:53:34 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 4:

She's not feeling good today. My favorite texter out of the entire text was 586. It says, Blaze should have been your first red flag. In the monster machines. Hold on a second. Hold on. Why is Capri calling us back? What's up, Capri? Why are you calling us back?

00:53:52 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 6:

Because I'm going to call Kevin out. Yeah, I knew it. What did I do?

00:53:57 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 4:

He gave you an A.

00:53:58 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 6:

Because you gave me an A. So I'm going to leave some room for you to not leave any room and go check my Instagram page out.

00:54:05 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Capri.

00:54:05 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what's your Instagram?

00:54:07 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

00:54:07 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 3:

Just send me a DM. I'll look at you.

00:54:10 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

Wait, Capri. No, Capri, he doesn't need any more.

00:54:12 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 3:

Relax, bro. She called to talk to me.

00:54:15 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 4:

Capri. Chill, bro. He's.

00:54:18 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

Capri, Kev knows on Instagram, K-E-V-K-N-O-W-S.

00:54:21 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 4:

When he gave you an aid, you know what he did? He just threw his fishing rod out there. That was basically him fishing there for you.

00:54:28 - 00:54:29 | Unknown:

That's not true.

00:54:29 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 6:

I just wanted to say that because I know he had a problem with a girl having her baby on her Instagram, so mine is full of meat. So don't think I'm full of myself.

00:54:37 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 3:

That's what we like. You listen. Shout out to your birthday, Capri. Jeez. I'm a sad December 4th. That's beautiful.

00:54:44 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 4:

All right. Listen, I'm done with this whole thing.

00:54:45 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

That's Jay-Z birthday, December 4th. Goodbye, Capri. How are you doing that randomly? How? Oh, yes. Bye, Capri.

00:54:53 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 4:

Unbelievable.

00:54:55 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the second date update.

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

00:55:53 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 1:

Connie West and Bianca Sensori apparently split after she tried to have him committed. And speaking of tracking, this is actually perfect that I'm talking about this right after that War of the Roses. He was tracking her via, am I saying this right, Maybach app? Maybach. Maybach app. She left during some sort of panic attack that she had triggered by his tweets. He was dragging him, and then she wanted him in a safe place and committed. And how do I know this? Details from a song, lyrics from a song that he just dropped called Bianca. Oh, he wrote a song about her. That's nice.

00:56:33 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 2:

Come back to me. Want you to come back to me. Want you to come back. My baby, she ran away. But first, she tried to get me committed. Like I went to the hospital. Because I am not sick. I just did not get it. She want me to say when I finish. I'm making a skirt when I'm in it. She's having a panic attack And she is not liking the way that I tweet it Until Bianca's back I'll stay up all night, I'm not going to sleep

00:56:56 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 4:

Whose voice is that? It's horrible It's his That's him singing the girl's voice too?

00:57:01 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 2:

I guess we didn't catch you I'm making a song for Bianca I'm feeling the spirit of thunder We can check it out online

00:57:08 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 1:

I'm obviously not going to play the whole thing Lots of details on that song What do we think? Are we going to like it?

00:57:13 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Is it going to be a hit? What's up y'all? This is Kanye West, Mojo in the Mornings And I definitely have my mojo in the mornings.

00:57:19 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes. What do you think, Kevin? Will you be downloading that today?

00:57:22 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to listen to it. I think he's a, it's an artist out there named Dave Bluntz that Kanye is, I don't know. I feel like he's being influenced by a lot from that guy, but he was on a stream yesterday with Act chopping up the samples like Diddy told him to. I need him to get back in the sample bag and start some production. Good music coming soon, I'm sure. I don't like that song, though.

00:57:42 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 1:

Was Justin Bieber shading Selena Gomez's engagement to Benny Blanco via a meme that he shared on his Instagram story yesterday? I say, yeah. Lydia and I both agree to this. Probably. The meme in question featured a scene from The Lord of the Rings when Gollum holds up that gold ring to his eyes. Do you know exactly what scene I'm talking about? The caption said, girls on social media when they get engaged. that's very obvious right yes yeah that's targeting we're all in agreement do you want golem though he's stupid well i know but it's that scene where he's got you know he's yes drake scored an early victory in his legal battle with umg universal music group in a pre-trial conference that went down yesterday the judge ruled in favor of drake denying umg's motion to stop the discovery phase in his defamation lawsuit against Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us. Drake and his lead attorney celebrated with a press release that reads, now it's time to see what UMG was so desperately trying to hide. What does this even mean? It means they can now proceed with Drake's request to get a hold of some documents related to this case from UMG. And catching you up, if you aren't already aware, back in January, Drake sued the label, his own label, for defamation, harassment, and spreading the false and malicious narrative that he's a pedophile as Kendrick raps on Not Like That. He claimed UMG knew Kendrick's lyrics and images from the music video were going to be false and dangerous, but still continued to promote it for profit. He also is accusing UMG of conspiring with Spotify to falsely inflate the streaming numbers for the song.

00:59:32 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 5:

has he uh still moving forward has drake done anything against the super bowl yet remember they were all people that would not that i've heard of i thought he would that's if you're gonna go after anybody go back go after the deep pockets go after the nfl roger goodell

00:59:49 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 1:

lastly this is the funniest story so it has no celebrities here this is just ordinary people There's a girl named Susie Day. Yes. And Susie Day. Today's boyfriend, Brandon, recently flew from the U.K., where he lives, to L.A. to surprise her for her birthday and their anniversary. On the last night of his trip here in L.A., in the States, the couple decided to have a little cooking competition just for fun. They went to Trader Joe's. They picked out separate ingredients for the meals they were going to cook. They got home. Brandon began cooking his surprise dish, which was pasta with spicy sausage and a cream sauce topped with mozzarella. Sounds great. So they finish his meal. She glances over at the sink and sees a block of mozzarella cheese sitting next to her foot file, which she uses for pedicures to get the dead skin off of her feet. Oh, no. Instead of using a cheese grater in the kitchen, he grabbed that to grate the mozzarella cheese that he put on their meal. And now their story and the photos from it are going viral. And the internet has dubbed it extra zesty foot-a-chini. instead of fetish. The callus in there. That's gross. For all of today's Dirty Catchup by checking out the podcast, just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:01:06 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 4:

Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com.

01:01:08 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 1:

That word is so gross.

01:01:09 - 01:01:11 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:01:11 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're doing away with these Jonas Brothers tickets. Jeremy, hello, Jeremy. Hey, how's it going? It's going good, Jeremy. We got tickets to go see the Jonas Brothers, but this is very interesting, my friend. It's been all these women going crazy all this week wanting to win these things.

01:01:32 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm trying to win them for my daughter. Are you really? She would love to do that. Okay, tell us about your daughter. I mean, well, she's funny. We've gone to a couple concerts before. I brought her down to Justin Timberlake a while back. She likes Jonas Brothers. So this opportunity came up.

01:01:53 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

This guy has a 20-year-old daughter. You sound like you're, like, 30 years old.

01:01:58 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 1:

What a good dad.

01:01:59 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Where are you from, Jeremy?

01:02:03 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 4:

Grand Haven area, Fruitport.

01:02:05 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 2:

I love it, man. So you guys make that drive from West Michigan, come to Detroit, and you're going to go see the Jonas Brothers at Comerica Park. Congratulations. Yeah. It's going to be a fun concert.

01:02:15 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 4:

Awesome, yeah.

01:02:16 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 2:

Or are you going to let your daughter go with, like, her girlfriends?

01:02:20 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 4:

If that's what she wants to do, I'll let her do it.

01:02:22 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

But it's cool that you and her both go to concerts together, though.

01:02:26 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, trying to go do more of them now that she's a little bit older.

01:02:30 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Well, congratulations to you, man. We're going to set you up a pair of tickets to see the Jonas Brothers with Marshmello, Co-America Park, August the 28th. Enjoy it, okay? Thanks. All right. This is their hit song right now that's out called I Dare You. It's with Rascal Flatts, the Jonas Brothers and Rascal Flatts.

01:02:50 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 3:

It's a good song. I kind of like that.

01:03:10 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 2:

I kind of like the pop artists and country artists kind of coming together. Why can't we all get along? Why don't we, you think Kendrick or Drake would ever go and do that? Like Beyonce obviously did. Would that be kind of cool? I mean, Jay-Z and Nas, you know, they squash their situation. Anything's possible. But wouldn't it be great to have, like, country artists actually bring a little peace on Earth to the world? With Drake and Kendrick? How about Drake and Kendrick along with, what's that guy's name? Zach Ryan or somebody.

01:03:47 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 1:

Drake probably would do that. He's got a lot of controversy. No, but wouldn't it be great for Morgan Wallen or somebody like that? A lot of controversy.

01:03:54 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Morgan Wallen started one of Drake's videos before. Be kind of cool. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number to get through to us. We're getting excited here because opening day. Yes. Opening day is truly a holiday. It's a national holiday. It's a party. Kind of like how you see, I guess, what, I don't know, the Thanksgiving games for the Tigers, you know? It's a great comp. Where it's like the game that you really want to go to because it's just something to be at. And it seems to me like opening day fever this year seems as hype because everybody's excited for the potential of what these Tigers could be because they're young and they're pretty talented. So it's also the number one ditch day in Detroit. And this poll was just recently done by one of the sports apps. And I thought this was actually pretty cool. One in ten Tigers fans who attend...

01:05:00 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 5:

opening day lie to their boss either claiming that they're working from home or they're sick on opening day and with it being an opening day friday is that not a perfect time to do it and we got tickets by the way we're going to be giving away tickets we're going to be broadcasting from co-america parks field too which is going to be fun but i thought this would be a good topic to bring up and ask the question has anybody ever been busted ditching work or calling in sick have you ever had where you told your boss that you weren't going to come in or you were going to take a day and then you got busted? And who has the craziest story of getting busted? And I'm looking for like total nuts stories because my favorites are always the, and I'll never forget this phone call and it was years ago. It might've been pre Shannon on the show, but it was the person that ditched work because they wanted to have an extra long holiday weekend. They said that they were really sick and then they were on i think it was channel 4 in detroit doing an interview walking on the streets from arts beats and eats which is a festival we had here yeah and their boss saw them hanging out like with uh the news reporter paula tutman or something on the sidelines asking questions you know asking questions like on the streets like people you got to be careful yeah do you know i yeah i've been to i don't know how many games countless games of uh the tigers i have been on television not because of any reason that they thought i was you know who i was from the radio station it was just the random fans screaming in the stands you know what i mean yeah and i've been you got to be careful or on somebody's social media or so

01:06:42 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 1:

that's even worse because that's when the world becomes very small and you're in the background

01:06:47 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 4:

of somebody's photo yeah this just happened at a pistons gang recently really at a dance cam And this guy was, he wasn't even, like, up dancing, I guess, trying to be seen. He was kind of still sitting in his seat, but he was still kind of moving around. Yeah. And the camera caught him. He gets on a jumbotron. He doesn't realize it. The person next to him, like, pats him, tells him to look up. He immediately does, like, the don't put me on it. He's like, I'm supposed to be at work. You can literally see him out and he's like, I'm supposed to be at work.

01:07:15 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Morgan, hi. We're talking about, have you ever gotten busted, fake calling in? What's going on?

01:07:21 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 2:

So I worked third shift and called in six so I could go to a concert. Well, my team lead also was at that concert two rows behind me and caught me. That's great.

01:07:35 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 5:

Did they do the whole tap on the shoulders thing, or did they do a text message of a picture of your back of your head?

01:07:41 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 2:

She sent me a text message and asked me if I was at the concert, and I looked around, and we locked eyes, and I knew it was over.

01:07:50 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 4:

That is so good. Did you get fired?

01:07:53 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 2:

I did not, but I did get a warning.

01:07:57 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 5:

Thank God. What's going on? Dakota, hi. It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

01:08:03 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you guys this morning?

01:08:04 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 5:

We're excited for opening day. What's happening?

01:08:08 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 3:

So I don't ever lie about it. I'm just honest about it. My supervisor this year actually kept all the Fridays in April off just for me because we didn't know when it was after last year.

01:08:19 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. So you are, are you, you're that big of a fan? You go to all the opening days, huh?

01:08:25 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've been going since I was 11. It's kind of like a birthday tradition with my parents because it's either just before, just after or on my birthday. Say hey to us. Okay. All right. I

01:08:37 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 5:

will. We love you. Thanks for listening. Hold on. Kelly actually skipped work to go to Cedar

01:08:41 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 1:

Point. And what happened, Kelly? So yeah, I skipped work to go to Cedar Point. And I guess my boss was looking on her news feed on Facebook and one of her friends posted a selfie and I was in the background in the state line and she busted me. That is a great story.

01:09:00 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 5:

What happened? Did they fire you?

01:09:03 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 1:

No, she was just like, if you want to take off, use a vacation date, not a sick day. And I was like, okay. She called me into my office. She was like, so how are you feeling? And I was like, I feel a lot better. She goes, yeah, enough maybe to go to Cedar Point. I was like, oh.

01:09:21 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 5:

Which is funny because.

01:09:22 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 1:

My face just turned, like, completely shocked. I was like, what are you talking about? And she, like, made a copy of it and printed the picture so she could show me.

01:09:32 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 5:

Somebody told me that in human resources, you could get fired for calling in sick but using the sick day for a vacation day.

01:09:39 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a question? Why does it matter? You're gone. You are not in the office.

01:09:44 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Because I think that their thing is preparation beforehand. I think that that's their point. If you're going to take a vacation, they usually pre-do it ahead of time. You put them in a bind by doing that. But this is an interesting one because Elaine actually skipped school to go to the Tigers game.

01:10:00 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 7:

saw you on tv yeah so it was in 1999 the last game at tiger stadium oh yeah before they moved over to co-america school yeah yeah my mom called me in absent and my cousin and i went and enjoyed the game we were just little teenagers and we were on the big screen on channel four my teacher was at home watching the follow-up on the game and he saw me on tv total ferris bueller's day off

01:10:28 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

experience oh that's that's beautiful that is so great uh rachel you got caught blowing off work and you were in a different state is that right that is right

01:10:41 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 4:

my boss wanted me to come in i've known this guy for 20 years he's always shorthanded with people answering calls for him and i was like no i gotta take my son you know my best friends meet

01:10:53 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 2:

me in tennessee are you are you on a speaker your phone is really bad like you're whatever

01:10:57 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 4:

your speaker oh i'm sorry let me get you off my phone yeah there's some kind of there's like a

01:11:02 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

bluetooth is bad yeah there you are yeah i'm so sorry oh that's still bad it's your phone go ahead yes so so you were in a different you were in a different state and what and what happened your

01:11:13 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 4:

boss saw you or my son and i flew into orlando to go to my best friend's daughter's 16th birthday and i told my boss that i was driving my son to tennessee the meter halfway that i couldn't work I meant, now we were circling the airport. Oh, it's so bad.

01:11:29 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. You got a great story. I'm sure it's fantastic. But your phone, I feel like I'm doing a remix here. It's like, hold on. Let me get a little air horn. Thank you, though, for helping out, though. Thank you for calling. No problem.

01:11:43 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 6:

You guys have a great day. Well, that was clear. You too. I know, of course.

01:11:47 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I've got my sick day for tomorrow. My ears cannot take the bad phone line. I'm going to be sick, and I'll see you guys at the game at 1 o'clock instead of freezing at 40 degrees on the field. We're going to have a great time. We're going to run the bases.

01:11:59 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be cold.

01:12:00 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Samantha, we really need to to stay warm. What's going on, Samantha?

01:12:04 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 3:

Nothing. How are you guys? Good.

01:12:06 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on? We're talking about getting caught calling in sick.

01:12:10 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 3:

I didn't get caught calling in sick, but one night my husband was supposed to work at his second job, which was delivering pizzas, and he decided he wanted to call off so we could go to the casino up in Toledo. and as we're walking around, he accidentally bumps into somebody and it ends up being his boss. Oh, my

01:12:28 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 2:

God. Oh, no. He did get fired. Oh, he did? Really? Oh, that sucks. But it was a pizza job, right?

01:12:38 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was a backup job just to make a little extra money so we could do extra things with the kids, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

01:12:44 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what? I'll take it, though. Hopefully, you just had fun with the kids. And one last call here. Holly, You there, Holly?

01:12:51 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 6:

I'm there. Hi, guys. Good morning. Hi. How are you? Good. How about yourself?

01:12:56 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. What's going on, Holly? You got a good story for us?

01:12:59 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So I called off on Valentine's Day. I just wanted to go get some stuff for my man. I went to an adult store, and all of a sudden I hear, hey, you, and I turn around, and it's my boss's brother. Oh, God. Wait, your boss's brother. Of all cases. He never told, thank God, but I was mortified.

01:13:15 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because the boss's brother didn't want to call the boss up and say, hey, brother,

01:13:20 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, in his hand, by the way. What items? He just walked in, so he didn't have nothing yet. What did you have in your hand? I was just looking, thank God. Oh, my gosh.

01:13:29 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I have to tell you, that's the reason why I can't go to those stores. If I'm doing something, I'm ordering it online because I go into those stores, it's going to be the one time I go, hey, Mojo. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Can we take a picture together? Yes. Oh, it's the worst. I think I did that one time. I think I was at a, what the hell was the store? Cirilla's? No. Lover's Lane. Lover's Lane, yeah. I was at Lover's Lane in Waterford there. And I'm inside this, and there's a Zap Zone right next door. What? And one of our neighbor's kids was having a birthday party at Zap Zone, and I walked into the Lover's Lane, and they're like, Mr. C's over at the store next door.

01:14:12 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 1:

It's like, oh, my God.

01:14:13 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Weird placement.

01:14:14 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:14:15 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 1:

Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. Am I the a-hole? Or the throwback throwdown?

01:14:24 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if you're the mall leasing office, to rent a store for Zapsone and Lover's Lane right next to each other is probably not the greatest idea. Leave your kids and have some fun. Although that would actually be good. Throw them in there. What kind of gifts did you get at the birthday party? Throw them in there. Mojo in the morning show. So, home of the War of the Roses, the second date update, and the Dirty on the 30. Kevin had his fire alarm at his apartment go off. Yeah. And what did you do? Well, I don't, I'm very, I feel like.

01:15:00 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 3:

I can recognize real danger. And when fire alarms go off, I don't feel like they're real half the time. Like I feel like 50% of the time a fire alarm goes off is not a real thing. So my level of urgency isn't there when I hear this fire alarm go off. Because first off, I don't have to get on an elevator to go down. I'm not like on the 10th floor or anything. I'm on the first level. So like I can just walk out my door. So it's not like I need to run. It's not, my house not burning. So I'm in the bed, Josiah's in his room. And like I said, I have no interest in like getting up and leaving. And Josiah coming to the room, he's like, the fire alarm, the fire alarm. Get up, get up, get up. Like he in full like emergency mode. I don't know if he went to sleep with his clothes on or if he put clothes on. He's fully dressed. He's got shoes on. He's got his book bag on. And he's got a box of pizza in his hand. Oh, he's prepared. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on.

01:15:51 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 2:

He's thinking his place is on fire. He's got his school book bag. Yes. And he grabbed the pizza out of the refrigerator.

01:15:58 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 3:

He got a box of pizza. I'm like, Joe, what are you doing? He's like, as long as I have my art and a snack, I'm good. Oh, my God, I love him. Joe, all this stuff in here, you just read about your art and a couple slices of pizza?

01:16:10 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:16:11 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 3:

And it wasn't a fire.

01:16:12 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you are a horrible example for your child. What do you mean? The fire alarm's going off, and you're going, eh, it ain't a fire. This kid has been trained by his school, by his mom, maybe his grandma.

01:16:28 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 4:

Stop calling the kettle. You are not leaving any building when there's a fire alarm, whether you have your kids or not.

01:16:35 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 2:

I know you. You want to call Chelsea and ask Chelsea?

01:16:38 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 4:

When the fire alarm goes off here, you're like, is something blinking?

01:16:43 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 2:

No, when the fire alarm goes off here, we're on the air, and it's like, okay, I'm not going to run out in the middle of the show.

01:16:49 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 4:

If you're at a restaurant enjoying a meal, you're not getting up in the room.

01:16:53 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 2:

So we were at Joe's apartment in Tampa, and Joe lived on, I think it was the fourth floor or something like that. The fire alarm goes out, and I'm like, Chelsea, let's get the hell out of here. We ended up getting out. We grabbed the keys to the car and got in the car. Joe stayed in the apartment the entire time. Exactly.

01:17:11 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 4:

Because of the example that you've given him throughout his whole life. You never left.

01:17:14 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 2:

It was not. I give great examples. Kevin gave bad examples. Uncle Kevin here. No, no. No, you know what? Honestly, I get out with a fire. If there's a fire alarm. Now, car alarms in parking lots. I don't give a rat's ass about that. You know what I mean? It ain't my car. But a fire alarm. I mean, are there any people that if a fire alarm goes off, are there any people that just sat there in bed and it turned out that there was a fire? What's the one time?

01:17:42 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 3:

I just don't feel like it's real. Where's Josiah at?

01:17:46 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 2:

I want to call Josiah because I want to give him a better example of a man here.

01:17:52 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 4:

There was a snack as part of this equation.

01:17:54 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 3:

He literally said, as long as I have my art and a snack, I'm good. But I feel like I was being generous with my 50% of the time. I don't think it's a real fire. I think it's more like 70% of the time. Yeah. And if you hate your job, that's like the best moment because you get to like walk downstairs and go outside for a minute. I had a little drills, but it don't be real, bro. And I'm not about to run outside for what? Like, why are we doing this? It's not even a real fire. This is an inconvenience.

01:18:18 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 2:

This is, by the way, you are literally. Who are you calling? You're a guy who I thought was a better example for your child. Who's calling him?

01:18:26 - 01:18:26 | Unknown:

How you doing?

01:18:26 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 2:

Chief Harris. How you doing?

01:18:28 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. Chief? He literally called dad.

01:18:30 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

We're on the radio right now, Chief.

01:18:33 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 4:

Gotcha.

01:18:34 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Kevin had a fire alarm go off in his apartment in Detroit, mind you, and he didn't leave his apartment because he said that 70% of the time it's not a real fire.

01:18:48 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 1:

But it worked about the 30%. You never take it lightly. The next time I see Kevin, we're going to have to have a conversation and sit out. You never take it for granted. When that smoke alarm goes off, you get low when you go. When you get out, you stay out, no matter what. I don't care if it goes off 50 times in an hour. You go out and leave every time because you can't take it for granted.

01:19:09 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Here's the deal. You promised me something. If the fire alarm goes off and it's a real fire at Kevin's apartment and you got to carry his big fat butt out of there, you don't carry him out. You make him crawl.

01:19:21 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 1:

I got to carry him out. You caught me. I'm in the middle of my workout. I got like a couple minutes.

01:19:25 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

I'll go.

01:19:25 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm working out so I can lift Kevin. I can lift him up. You better throw some extra pounds on there.

01:19:32 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 2:

We love you, Chief. Have a great workout.

01:19:34 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 1:

We'll talk to you soon.

01:19:35 - 01:19:37 | Unknown:

I love you back, man. Stay safe. Stay blessed.

01:19:37 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 1:

Keep doing what you're doing. in Detroit. Love you guys. We love you, buddy.

01:19:40 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Take care of yourself. I love that you called Tim. On speed, dog. I'm telling, by the way, I'm going to have you get citations. You're going to get a citation for this. What's up, Nella? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:19:51 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how are you guys? Good.

01:19:52 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? So, one time, my sisters and I stayed in a hotel that had, like, multiple rooms with our husbands, and

01:20:00 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 1:

The fire alarm went off at like two o'clock in the morning and my husband and I, we just like jet out of bed. We didn't even like say a word. We just got dressed as if we had like rehearsed this a thousand times and like got out of the hotel room. My other sister and her husband like did not care. They just laid in bed, did not move. And then my other sister and her husband were just like, I don't know what's going on, but they had no sense of urgency. And it was just so funny because it was like just how differently we all responded to the situation. And my husband and I just like acted like we've done this one thousand times was it a real fire uh no it ended up being

01:20:31 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 5:

a false alarm a bad example for kevin sorry about that uh hold on uh hayley what's up it's mojo in

01:20:42 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 4:

the morning hi hi good morning um my house caught on fire when i was like a freshman in high school Yeah. And we didn't know like the fire alarms were going off, but we just thought it was because someone like hit a power line and like caused the whole sub to go out of power. So we just thought it was because of that. But turns out our house was like on fire the whole time. But it was like it was a room that was always locked and it was an electrical fire. Oh, I was in the house for like six hours and I realized it when I went into my room and there was black smoke coming out of the bed.

01:21:18 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 5:

Black smoke is bad smoke.

01:21:21 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 4:

Black smoke is bad smoke. I was out of the house for a year. It was the day before Thanksgiving. I grabbed my backpack, just like Josiah. My mom grabbed the vodka.

01:21:35 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 5:

She's thinking. Kev would have died. Josiah would have been out in front of the apartment eating his pizza. What's up, Carissa? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

01:21:46 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. So the actual fire and there's smoke everywhere. And it was our apartment building, not our apartment, but the building next, next to it. And my husband grabs the TV remote in a panic. And I'm running around grabbing our binder of important documents, like birth certificates and financial stuff and a giant bag of presents. And we get out. He's got the remote and shoes on and I've got all this important shit.

01:22:15 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 5:

Can't swear. I got to dump your swear word. You can't swear. So you had an actual fire, and what happened?

01:22:22 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 3:

You had a flashback. My husband grabbed a remote for the TV, and I grabbed all this important stuff, all of her important documents, and a bag of presents.

01:22:34 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. You had an actual fire. You're grabbing all the important documents, and your husband grabbed the remote control for the television? And his shoes. not with the tv though like if it all burns down that's funny by the way that is a classic thank you for the call appreciate it hold on misfit victor would like to wait good morning what's up victor

01:23:04 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 2:

good morning you can tell josiah takes after his mom because kevin if he was his age he would have left all his books there and hoped that they burned out. A couple years ago, I was going through this stuff where I was having constant vertigo and going to doctors and everything. I was at the ear, nose, and throat doctor and I'm on the 12th floor of this hospital getting checked out and I'm in this soundproof room and I'm looking and they're doing this hearing test and I'm seeing all this commotion. I'm like, what's going on? Did they find something and they open the door they're like we got to get you out of here there's a fire and the alarms are going and they're so we're walking down the stairs and i was just so defeated at that time i'm like this is a sign from god they're like you have to move faster you need to run i said i don't care i hope this building burns down with me and it i care less keep running keep running i'm like i'm not running i don't care we get downstairs and there's two guys that were working on the

01:24:07 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 5:

maintenance box that set it off oh no and you had to walk down 12 lines of stairs yeah yeah well

01:24:15 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 2:

thank god we didn't have to walk up 12 right they're yelling at me mr victor you need to move faster i'm like no mr victor doesn't care right now oh my god those are great stories We got a big announcement.

That's incredible. Brian, by the way, what's the hottest selling car that you guys have on your lot right now? What's selling for you guys at Moran Chevrolet?

01:28:01 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

We're lucky. It's been a good mix. Equinox is hot. The new Traverse is ridiculously hot. Silverado's been good. Trax. All across the board. It was a really, really good month.

01:28:13 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 2:

It's funny. At Trax, I've told five or six friends about the Chevy Trax, and I said to them, I go, have you seen the redesigned? They're like, no, I haven't seen it. I'm like, there it is right there. And they're like, that's a Trax? They didn't even know. It looks amazing.

01:28:24 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, what do you have? I have a GMC. I have an Acadia, but from Moran Buick GMC. Always a Moran automotive car. But my sister and my brother-in-law just got a car from Brian. They got a Tahoe from Moran Chevy.

01:28:38 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 2:

So Brian... They got the car. The island's a singing tear. What do we have? What song we got going on there? I like that. That's actually good. Let me tell you, that's better than Chappell Rohn. I hate you, dog. I hate you. We got definitely more talent there. So we start on Monday, right?

01:29:02 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

We start on Monday.

01:29:03 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 2:

Start on Monday. Lydia, what is the official name of the thing? Isn't it like Find Mojo's Fob or something like that? Yeah, it's Find the Fob, but Find Mojo's Fob, yeah. Can I tell you the funniest thing is that I lose my fob all the time. And the funniest thing is I lose it, but yet I still get in the car and I can get in and start it because it's somewhere on my body or somewhere in my bag or wherever it is. So this is going to be fun. Brian, we're excited to get out there with you. You guys have been longtime partners here of our show. You've helped out so many different educators over the years with our back to school promotions. And we're excited that we get a chance to give away a car on your beautiful dealership lot. So this is going to be great.

01:29:43 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be great. I'm glad we finally got it put together because all I know is we started talking about this a while ago. Yeah. And every conversation, Mojo makes it a bigger contest.

01:29:54 - 01:29:55 | Unknown:

There you go.

01:29:56 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to vote. There's a chance to win. I'm doing one of 10 cars. It's one of 12. Listen.

01:30:04 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 5:

It's got to be big.

01:30:06 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing it for your kids. I'm doing it for your kids, Brian. That's what I'm trying, you know. Hey, do we have a future? Do we have? I love it.

01:30:17 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Oh, get it, girl.

01:30:23 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you. Welcome to my life. I'm telling you, I would much rather listen to that than any Pink Pony song on this radio show. So, quick question for you, Brian. Any of those kids, future car dealers, will this dealership be passed on to the third generation?

01:30:43 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That remains to be seen, but I can tell you there was career night at school last week, and Brooks, the card that he drew, he was a car salesman. That's cool. And he nailed his presentation. That's incredible.

01:30:56 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 2:

You know what the only sad part of that is? Any salesperson that works for you, if they ever do something stupid, you're going to say, Brooks could sell a car, you know?

01:31:09 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 3:

I've never, ever said anything like that.

01:31:15 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I am loving it.

01:31:17 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 4:

Collins is my spirit animal. That's amazing.

01:31:21 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 2:

Brian, we're excited for this. Monday is when it begins, and we're excited to give our listeners an opportunity to win. It's another huge prize right here on Mojo in the Morning Show. So have a fantastic day. How soon until you're pulling in the school lot?

01:31:37 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we're sitting out front right now. Oh, good. We're going to go in. They're going to get the day started.

01:31:42 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. We'll talk to you, buddy. Take care of yourself.

01:31:44 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 4:

Bye, guys. Have a blessed day.

01:31:46 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 3:

Have a good day.

01:31:47 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 2:

We'll see you. I actually love, one of the things I love about hearing a moment like that is it's cool to see people that you see in the business light all the time being dad. Being dad, yeah. You know, that's a cool moment there.

01:32:01 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 4:

Bro, somebody could win a Corvette right before the summer. Isn't that crazy? Oh, my God. Are you kidding me?

01:32:09 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be amazing. Will you tell, Lydia, will you tell Zach to come in studio because of, I want to get into. Zach's got a great topic, and I wanted to segue to this because of the last topic that Kevin did. It was kind of funny with the lady who, or the listener, the lady, the woman who called up and said that her husband only grabbed the remote. I thought that would have been a great segue for this one. So, all right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Got a lot coming up here. Got a lot on this show. This week seems like it's gone by quick.

01:32:43 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 4:

It's so fast. Super fast. You don't feel like that?

01:32:47 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, Megan's been out sick, so you've been doing all Megan's duties, too, huh?

01:32:51 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 1:

But it's okay. I hope she feels better.

01:32:53 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 2:

Do you really hope she feels better because you want her to feel better or because you don't want to do her work anymore?

01:32:58 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 1:

A little bit of both. Yeah. No, no, I love it.

01:33:01 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 2:

Like yesterday, she came in, and she was kind of, like, not well.

01:33:04 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 5:

She just sent me a text with a voice memo to show me how bad her voice sounds. I haven't listened to it yet, but apparently she has no voice.

01:33:11 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 2:

Put it in there. Play the thing, because you've got to hear this thing.

01:33:14 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I hope it doesn't say anything bad. Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on I would love to What? Unfortunately, this is what I currently sound like I don't know how I'm getting sicker I don't understand Oh my god, the poor thing

01:33:32 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy?

01:33:33 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 4:

That sucks

01:33:34 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

01:33:34 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 4:

That's real

01:33:35 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 2:

That is crazy

01:33:36 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 4:

It's gonna be like this for a while When people get sick these days It's not just like a three day little thing And then you're over it People have been sick for weeks

01:33:44 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, the worst is I'd rather have, like, oh, my stomach hurts me and I've got the poopies than lose my voice. And it's not because of what I do for a living. It's because of me liking to be able to talk to anybody, communicate with anybody.

01:33:56 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 1:

I'd rather have the poops than the stuffy nose. Same. Yeah. Like, that sucks. Yeah. Same.

01:34:02 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. Mojo in the morning show. Zach is in studio with us this morning. Zach is our, what do I always forget what the hell I call you? Audio producer. Executive audio producer. That's what we like to call him. We like to give him a big old name here. We give titles instead of money.

01:34:20 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't think we can.

01:34:21 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 2:

That's what we do at iHeart. We got good things.

01:34:24 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 3:

That's good.

01:34:26 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 2:

So Zach has a crazy story, and this deals with one of your roommates and a crazy ex?

01:34:33 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, she's always around, so I don't know if she's really an ex, but last night we lost our power.

01:34:40 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

01:34:40 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

So we have a fire stick. I'm like, let me take the fire stick to my sister's house. You know, I'm going to use my roommate's account, you know, whatever. We couldn't find the TV remote though. So it's been like two weeks where we've lost the TV remote and I finally confronted him yesterday. I was like, Hey, like, do you happen to have.

01:35:00 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 5:

it in your room can i take it to my sisters whatever and he looked at me and he was like hold on gets on his phone he's like ashley you got the f'n remote again again again yeah i look at him and i was after he was done he was like yeah ashley's got it and i was like again what what do you mean well when we uh get in a fight this is her revenge are you kidding me is she nine years old right well now i'm thinking well i need a revenge for her stealing my gd remote

01:35:31 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 7:

and why is her revenge community-based it needs to be specific just to him she's affecting the

01:35:38 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 6:

whole crew so wait so this is kind of a weird one does this happen a lot like when you get into fights with significant others or have you guys ever had like girls uh it just seems like a girl thing there's no guy that would ever do something like that i'm not taking he knows the true value and sacredness of a remote. He would never have a remote be away from

01:35:59 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 4:

its space. Although now you can download

01:36:01 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 6:

the remotes on your phone. But you have to pay a fee. With a fire stick?

01:36:05 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's like $14 a month. Okay, I don't have a fire stick. I do not know that.

01:36:09 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 6:

Shannon sounds like a remote stealer, just by saying that.

01:36:12 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 4:

She's not a remote stealer. You know what happens in our house is the dog always eats the damn remotes. So we're constantly ordering new remotes, and so I have to have the app on my phone.

01:36:20 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 6:

what is the world what in the world though are there any crazy exes that have ever stole something from you because they knew that in this one you said you don't know for sure if Ashley's an ex

01:36:34 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 5:

she might be coming back tomorrow I wouldn't let her in the house

01:36:37 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 6:

actually you know what I would do I'd let her in the house is there a way that you can get that little string thing that they have at the banks where they put the pen

01:36:47 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 5:

tape into our table

01:36:49 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 7:

or something they get too far and it explodes i think that can i tell you something speaking of

01:36:55 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 6:

that they should have that with a remote a remote should never be allowed to leave the room and if it leaves the room gets to a certain point where it gets past a certain radius it beeps like crazy it tases you yeah it tases you know what honestly that's let's patent that don't taste me bro i do

01:37:13 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 4:

know people that air tag their remotes though that's smart to find them yeah i like that oh

01:37:18 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 6:

So, man, I'm telling you that I'd air tag Ashley. I'd figure out where that crazy bitch is.

01:37:24 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm coming for your ass.

01:37:27 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 6:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's up, Ruba? What do you do when you break up with your guy?

01:37:34 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 2:

Hey, with my girl. But I'll change my Netflix password and log out on all the Netflix accounts. That is genius.

01:37:42 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 3:

That hurts.

01:37:44 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm petty. I'll unplug the Roku from the actual TV. Forget the remote. I'll take the whole thing.

01:37:48 - 01:37:49 | Unknown:

Oh, man.

01:37:49 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 6:

Bitches be crazy. Wow. I bet you, you know what's funny is, I bet you this happens more in lesbian relationships, don't you think? It happens in gay relationships with girls more than it doesn't between.

01:38:02 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 2:

Because we just have our attitudes and fights just come.

01:38:06 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 6:

Because you guys are smarter than the guys at figuring out ways that you can get back at people. What's up, Evelyn? Hi.

01:38:13 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. How you guys doing?

01:38:15 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 6:

We're good. What's going on? We're just looking for Zach's remote. Say hey to Zach.

01:38:19 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 2:

I didn't take a remote. I took all the left shoe strings. I had shoes. Oh, that's so mean.

01:38:25 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 7:

You trippy.

01:38:27 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 6:

That's nuts.

01:38:27 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 7:

Every left shoe string. Every left shoe.

01:38:32 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 6:

You got a little crazy in you, don't you?

01:38:35 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 7:

Just a little bit. I'm a juvenile, of course.

01:38:38 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 6:

I like it. I like the people that also pull the seams out of people's pants and stuff like that. What? Cut holes, you know. That's too much time.

01:38:46 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

I had a friend, well, yes, who cut all the zippers out of her man's pants when they were in a fight. Every single pair of pants, no zippers.

01:38:54 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 6:

He obviously cheated with another woman because it was all about his wiener, right?

01:38:59 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 4:

Did they break up? No, they're actually still together. That's what I'm saying. How do you recover from that? Isn't there something? Years, and this was years ago.

01:39:06 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 6:

It had to do with the wiener, right? The whole idea he couldn't keep his wiener in his pants?

01:39:11 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 4:

Actually, it didn't. No? No, she was just pissed.

01:39:14 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 6:

Really? Come on. So she just cuts the zippers. So now I've got to buy new jeans. What's up, Vanessa?

01:39:18 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 1:

That was crazy. My ex hacked into my thermostat and kept turning my heat off. Oh, that's a good one. Oh, my God.

01:39:27 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 6:

Vanessa.

01:39:28 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 1:

You're a little engineer.

01:39:29 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 6:

What did you do? Horrible, but funny. What was he so upset about?

01:39:32 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 1:

I had to change out my thermostat. I had to take out the...

01:39:35 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 6:

No, I know. What did you do, though, that got him so pissed off?

01:39:39 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he was mad because I broke up with him. He thought that I should have just gave him another chance. And then he had, he catfished me on Bumble, too, so he could see what I was saying about him.

01:39:48 - 01:39:49 | Unknown:

Oh, boy.

01:39:50 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 7:

He's crazy. How do you think about that? The thermostat. And he was crazy. I gotta tell you. Oh, yeah. That's Chad GBT.

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 6:

I gotta tell you, that's...

01:40:00 - 01:40:08 | Speaker 1:

Or that, you know what that is? That is like that show with, what was the crazy show that was on Netflix? Oh, Reindeer Baby?

01:40:08 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Baby Reindeer.

01:40:09 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes. What's going on, Samantha? Hi, Samantha.

01:40:14 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Hi. What's up? So I had, in college, I was friends with this couple, both the girlfriend and the boyfriend, and she was mad at him, so she stole the USB connector to his wireless mouse. and so he and i would sit with them and he'd be like why is my mouse not working when he was trying to do homework he changed the batteries finally she came clean but it was so funny and i didn't know this happened at the time because i might have been like check your adapter but it was so funny how long did it take it was like weeks i think he ended up buying a new mouse

01:40:49 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 1:

oh my god uh taylor's uh mom's ex would do crazy things to your mom what did he do taylor

01:40:57 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 3:

okay so just so you know i'm a first time caller so i was probably like nine and she had broken up with him well he had like came back to the house for some reason and my mom was dying her friend's hair and you know the color and the processor and everything he took the whole bowl and threw it on the roof and so she had green hair for like three weeks and i was like and that's why he's an ex and i was like so traumatized like oh my gosh

01:41:29 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 1:

she's gonna come in and steal the next hair color when she comes back oh my god uh rodney we need

01:41:36 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 6:

rodney's story what's up rodney hey good morning you guys uh long time long time oh i love it what's going on yeah i had a buddy every time he broke up with a girl he would go to the pet throw and buy a half throw a gerbil and leave it in the house right before he broke up.

01:41:57 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I couldn't understand him. What would he buy?

01:41:59 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 6:

He would go to the pet store and buy a gerbil or a hamster and just leave it in the house.

01:42:02 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that to me is terrible. That is the worst one. Dude, that wins. No, that freaks me out.

01:42:10 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 1:

No, Rachel's got a bad one too. Rachel's got a smelly one. What's up, Rachel? What would you do?

01:42:16 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time long time. Hey, Rachel. and he wasn't even my ex. He was my roommate, and he didn't contribute to, like, anything in the house. He was, like, just really annoying. And so right before I moved out, I put an egg in the air vent in his closet. Oh, my God.

01:42:44 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 1:

Rotten egg. What are we doing? What are we doing? Rachel, you need to go to confession. I know, it's evil. That is bad. Oh, my God. Musa did something funny. Musa, what would you do? What would you do to your ex?

01:42:59 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 7:

All right, so look, Kev, Mojo, don't judge me, because I was the one this time, all right? Uh-oh. So I used to take the batteries off the remote and leave the remote. I used to take my ex's wigs, dip them in there. In there? Yeah, yeah. I'm not proud of it now, you know what I'm saying? But, you know what I'm saying? I was a little immature and steady.

01:43:23 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 2:

What did she do to deserve those things?

01:43:26 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 7:

I mean, don't, don't, don't. It was a lot, too. I got cheated on and hit a baby on me. So don't do that. What was the last thing? Oh, as far as the water, I have, like, jugs of water because I don't drink top water. I drink bottled water. So I have the jugs of water in there, and instead of having, like, straight water, I take some vinegar and then put it in there, shake it up or whatnot, and then I just leave it.

01:43:51 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. This guy. Moose. I'm judging you. Last but not least, Nicole on the Mojo in the Morning show talking about, and by the way, Nicole, you're not friends with a girl named Ashley. Are you?

01:44:06 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 2:

No. No, I'm not.

01:44:07 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

If you, by the way, ever see Ashley, you tell her that Zach is after her. What's going on? What did you do? Oh, this is about your ex.

01:44:15 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

I didn't do anything. My ex, when he finally moved out of my house, took all of my lingerie and my toys.

01:44:25 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 4:

That's weird. Not the toys.

01:44:26 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 2:

And very creepy. Yeah, right? He said he didn't want me to use him with anybody else. Oh, like you can't go buy more. Right? Right? Yeah. I did. That's real. Yeah, I did. She goes, I did.

01:44:39 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 1:

That is love. That is love.

01:44:40 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 4:

But what did he do with it is my question.

01:44:43 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we don't need that on the radio at this time. Lydia says I got to take one more She's got stars next to it Sonia, what did your mom do to your dad? This is what mom did to your dad Oh my goodness

01:44:56 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 5:

I hope she's listening Mom, if you're listening, call her

01:45:00 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 3:

My dad was a cheater, and she took itching powder and put it in his underwear drawer, and it made him think he had crabs. Oh, my God. We caught him in the bathroom shaving all of his pubic hair off. He wasn't about to tell her anything. I'm like, my goodness, Mom.

01:45:22 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 4:

Can you imagine that's your dad? Right. Dad's just shaving the pubic.

01:45:27 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

I was like, Mom, what is Dad doing? She's like, that bastard.

01:45:31 - 01:45:33 | Unknown:

Oh, my God. All right.

01:45:33 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 1:

He's cheating with you, but will never cheat on you. That's cute. Another War of the Roses is after 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:45:42 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 4:

Zach put the War of the Roses up. At what time was it at? We did it live at 7. What time? I would say 7.40. By 7.40, you had it up? 01:47:00 - 01:49:01 | Speaker 2:

you feel like life is so busy and you're so go go go and something makes you like stop in your tracks and pause and be grateful for everything that you have right and yesterday I had one of those moments when my my sister Jacqueline um has two little girls Stella and Navy and if you follow me on instagram you know i love my nieces so much they are so dang cute but um navy who is two has a lot of health issues she has something called mcops 12 which is an ultra rare rare disease that about 40 people in the world they think have it's so crazy to me but she is blind she can't walk she drinks well she gets all of her liquids through a tube so she man is like the the little thing that could um with all of her you know when with all of her milestones like we celebrate them big and so yesterday my sister jacqueline facetimes me and navy had and was holding by herself her very first little ice cream cone you guys and uh it was one of these little trader joe's ice cream cones and the joy on this baby's face eating her first ice cream Cone by herself was absolutely breathtaking and it just made me stop in all of the busyness and craziness of my day yesterday and it put the biggest smile on my face I was in my car in my driveway and I sat there and just watched her eat this thing and enjoy it and like it it was one of those moments that just made me so grateful to not only have her but to sit back and say like you said mojo it is the little things that we all take for granted and overlook yeah but navy i just loved it navy brings a lot of joy to your family doesn't oh my god she is she is such

01:49:01 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 4:

a gift to us i love her so much yeah your sister and brother-in-law are special people too man

01:49:07 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 2:

yes they are heroes for sure she is such a hero yeah yeah and your first ice cream

01:49:13 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 4:

you know what I mean and it's funny because you think about it the joy of that taste of the first ice cream but the joy also when you said Navy's kind of like trying to learn some things holding it

01:49:28 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 2:

and not giving it back so that's just your daily reminder this doesn't need to be a big topic but this is your daily reminder to maybe just pause at some point today and have gratitude for something that you normally take for granted and it's just a part of your day that's normally rushed or somebody that you see in Pat you know whatever this is interesting because we

01:49:48 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 4:

I know we do tell me something good but maybe we do something like the little things like sometimes you can have the worst things just happening to you the the world just seems like it's just

01:50:00 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 1:

bad around you and then all of a sudden you have a moment like that happened to you or you see something like I always I fall victim to sitting and watching TikToks and reels and all that stuff and I'll just watch something if I saw that for the first time I just sit there and cry and then

01:50:17 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 5:

you put a Billie Eilish song behind it and for some reason it just makes it yeah but it is really

01:50:22 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 1:

it's it's so cool and I think that there's a lot of times we just don't we don't talk about that enough um you know you hear we hear just the complaining and the the you know the the craziness we don't hear that we don't hear the navy stories yeah yeah that's awesome beautiful um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 you put uh you actually shared this with us and i was looking at the uh i was looking at this little picture of her and this this picture right here i don't know the joy i don't know if you can see that if you mind showing that but that right there yeah she's not a neat eater she was really enjoying that ice cream she's on she's got a goatee hey that's all she had a chocolate goatee yeah she does it looks like the old mojo goatee back in the day the creepy goatee that i had but god look at the look on her face that right there is one of those situations where you look and you go you can't not smile i want ice cream can i have some ice cream right now

01:51:22 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 3:

01:51:42 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 1:

01:51:52 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 3:

Uh, it's a little, like he always runs out of school. Like he's 11 years old, but he runs out of school every day with his arms wide open. Mommy, you know, like that brings, like, I'm going to miss that one then. Um, but over the weekend, my husband was out of town and my daughter was out of town and it was just me and him. And he, I kept saying it's, you know, Mason and mommy and he brought it back to me and he came up to me and he goes just me and you mom just me and you and like little stuff like that where he recognizes it it's huge yeah it's cute that's beautiful thank

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:54:59 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:55:00 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 3:

been a good show today uh i think so and if you uh have missed any of shannon's dirties or the war of the roses or even kevin talking about how he tried to basically kill himself uh in his child

01:55:14 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 1:

in a house fire by the way you had to get the fire chief on the phone we have to give him a

01:55:20 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 3:

talking to we have a listener that says why is mojo always got to pick on his co-hosts I always love when people say that. I always go, that's got to be somebody that knows radio when they're like your co-host saying words like that. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30s?

01:55:35 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I don't know what is going on with Kelly Clarkson, but it is something. She was absent from her talk show for a couple of weeks. We didn't really get a story on that. And now I'm hearing that she wants to totally leave her talk show when her contract expires next year. But NBC executives are trying desperately to search for ways to keep her on the network. So whatever this personal matter is that she is dealing with is a big enough deal that she wants to take time. She wants to step away from the spotlight, step down from her show, which actually does great in the ratings.

01:56:14 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 3:

Somebody was saying that divorce that she had took a lot out of her.

01:56:18 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, it was very messy. I mean, that was not good. But that's why I think we started hearing these rumors that she was maybe going to join Jenna Bush Hagar and co-host that fourth or third. I don't even know what hour of the Today Show that they do together. But yeah, she wants nothing to do with the camera.

01:56:34 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 3:

I actually heard a story about that Jenna Bush thing and that show. And then also the Good Morning America third hour.

01:56:41 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, Good Morning America is axing everybody.

01:56:43 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, the TV stations are losing so much money right now and advertisers that they're talking about how they're telling their main talents and stuff that they have to work longer hours because they're just not able to just have a bajillion people doing these shows. Yeah. Interesting. I hope Kelly doesn't go away. I actually think Kelly's show is not bad. It's pretty good. Yeah. Yeah.

01:57:06 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of the Today Show, Glenn Powell sitting down for an interview with Jenna Bush Hagar, who came right out and asked him what the heck is going on between him and Sydney Sweeney. She was spotted in Dallas at his sister's wedding over the weekend. The wedding caused a little bit of a stir. Did that surprise you?

01:57:26 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 2:

You know, timing is everything in this world. Your sister was like, dude, I'm getting married. I'm the bride. Yeah, no, I mean, she and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding. You know, the pals know how to do it right and so all the people that love her were there.

01:57:41 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Come on, you cannot pretend you are not a couple anymore. Baby Finley. Baby Finley making her very first appearance on the New Heights podcast yesterday and meeting Uncle Travis. Who's Baby Finley?

01:57:53 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is this Jason's new baby?

01:57:55 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Jason Kelsey's new baby girl. Is this Finny? Yeah, Finn. Finley and Kelsey. We're calling her Finn. Finn and. That's adorable. Jason refused to let me just go Finn. You can tell Travis is such a proud uncle, by the way. You're impressive, Kai. Thanks, Trev. You're impressive. It really wouldn't have been possible without your brother, you know?

01:58:18 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 3:

Did he drop any Easter eggs that he and Taylor are going to have a baby?

01:58:21 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 1:

No, nothing that I heard. Could you see them having a baby together? Yes, for sure. You can? Yeah, you still do not think this is real. They've been quiet lately. Very much laying low and out of the spotlight.

01:58:32 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 3:

You haven't seen them out and about in places together.

01:58:35 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 1:

Maybe she's pregnant.

01:58:37 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 3:

Or they're not really together. They only are together during football season.

01:58:40 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

He will never believe that it was a legit relationship. Or it is a legit relationship.

01:58:46 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

Conspiracy?

01:58:47 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm not. Do you guys like taking baths?

01:58:51 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait. That's a personal question. That is a very personal question. I need to soak, too. I am not a bath person. Guys should not be taking baths.

01:58:57 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm not a hot tub person. I'm not a bathtub person.

01:58:59 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I need to soak, though. Soak those feet.

01:59:03 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 1:

So, Bruce Willis and Demi Morris, three daughters, Rumor, Scout, and Toulouse. willis they also take baths together that's weird how old are these ladies together like they're in their 30s uh and a rumor willis said this is just the kind of house that we grew up in people might think it's crazy and weird but we don't okay so yeah rumors 36 scout and tallulah are 31 and 33 respectively this is they all take baths together yeah you have there's a total of

01:59:36 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 3:

Three of you. Yes. Could you imagine you and your sisters bathing together like that? I know you guys didn't go to that bathhouse, right?

01:59:42 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 1:

No, we were bathing suits. No, I think this might be a little weird. That is strange. That's a little weird, yeah. All right, for all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast. Yeah, I'm from Milford. I'm on my way to work. I just had a baby four months ago, and I just got engaged last week. Oh, my God. Congratulations. Lots of congratulations.

02:00:41 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 3:

That's sweet.

02:00:42 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank you so much.

02:00:43 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 3:

That is awesome. Congratulations to you. Enjoy. Saturday night, you got a night out. You're going to have some fun.

02:00:49 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 2:

Can't wait. Thank you.

02:00:50 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 3:

All right, hang on the phone for just one second. We'll get all the information.

02:00:55 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

Perfect. Thank you so much.

02:00:57 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 3:

All right, don't go anywhere. When we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning show, it's what Chelsea calls me when I know she's mad at me. And what was she mad about last night? This is actually kind of funny because I think a lot of couples do this. And I don't know. Maybe I'll just tell you what it is and then I'll come back in a second. And if you have a spouse that does this all the time, Chelsea gets mad at me for watching my TikToks and reels on my phone with the volume up. And so we're trying to watch TV. she's looking at her phone at a decent small level I can't hear it and I like listen to it loud and she gets so mad at me and what she called me was very funny it was the obvious that she was mad do you have a fight with your significant other about the same thing call us 844 Mojo live

02:01:41 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 1:

we'd insult the members of this show but nature already took care of it

02:01:46 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

this is Mojo in the Morning

02:01:49 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 1:

cheat and you'll get caught is the War of the Roses Coming up in less than 15 minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:01:58 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. There is one way for sure that I can figure out if my wife is not happy with me. And it's by one thing that she will say to me. And it's not, I'm mad at you, or it's not even her raising her voice. Because to be honest with you, Chelsea does not really raise her voice at all. She'll call me Moj or Mojo. If Chelsea is mad about something, she will say, hey, Moj or Mojo. And I know if she's calling me not by my real name, Tom, then she is not happy. And I know I have to act accordingly at that particular moment. And one of the things that Chelsea recently was not happy about, and by the way, if you have an indicator for your spouse, you have to call us up and tell us what your indicator is um she was not happy with the fact that i sit on the couch the way that we uh we position ourselves and this is clean for all the kids you can all listen to him i'm on the couch laying on my my left side all on the couch in the corner yes you always take up that corner and then chelsea's on the floor on this like heat heat mat thing that she has like this heating thing that She lays on and we're both with the television on and she's usually scrolling on her phone and I'm usually scrolling on my phone or prepping on my laptop. And I was listening to some reels or TikToks. I don't even know what I was on at the time. And I guess I had it up too loud. I don't know. Hold on. Let me ask Chelsea. Yes. Chelsea, are you there?

02:03:39 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm here. Good morning.

02:03:41 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:03:42 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. It's not or. You're not doing or. You're on your phone. You're on your computer. And you have the TV full blast. Okay. So I got all. So it's all three things. Full blast. Your phone's at full blast. Your computer's at full blast. And the TV is super loud. And I'm just quietly trying to watch a TikTok or a Reel. And it infuriates me.

02:04:09 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

It gets to a point where she'll do the moj.

02:04:15 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 2:

I don't ever say moj. Mojo.

02:04:18 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 3:

What do you say? You call me the full name.

02:04:21 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't say moj. But it just irritates. Because I've asked you many times, hey, do you think you can turn one of those down? One of those. Can you turn one off and then you just, huh? Huh? What? What? And then you continue to. And then you'll watch it repeatedly, the same thing, again and again. Oh, my God. And then what's worse, then you'll send it to me. I have to find how I've heard it 17 times.

02:04:51 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 3:

I want you to enjoy it like I enjoyed it. I want you to be able to see it.

02:04:56 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 2:

No. No, no, no, no, no.

02:04:57 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

She'll actually say to me, this is pretty funny.

02:05:00 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 5:

She'll say to me, she'll go, why did you just send this to me? I just heard you play it five times. Yeah. But so do you want me to put air buds in or air pods in? Is that what you want?

02:05:15 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 2:

No. So pick one. There's three options you have. Okay. Pick one and then just like turn it to a normal listening. I'm not asking you to wear headphones or not even listen to it, but just, you know, normal. I don't have to hear it across the room. That might be a little loud.

02:05:33 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 6:

See, the crazy thing is you've been at this radio thing so long that your hearing is shot. That's what it is. This is normal to you. It's everybody else. It's on 100.

02:05:43 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 5:

But the other thing, too, is I'm used to fully functioning with, like, five or six things going at the same time. So I feel like when I'm doing this, it's not really hitting anybody's sensors. Yeah, I think this is actually a normal thing.

02:05:57 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 2:

If you were to ask, but if I were to ask you, what's on the TV, what's on your phone, what's on your computer, you would have no idea. So, yeah, you run all things at one time, but you're not fully immersed.

02:06:09 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I think I know what I'm doing. I think I very well know.

02:06:13 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to test you later. I'm going to test you later.

02:06:16 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 5:

Yes. But I do find it funny, though, that she'll sit there and she'll get, and she looks, and the funny thing is, she's supposed to be on this.

02:06:25 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 2:

Or you'll also be on the phone, too. You'll be talking on the phone with somebody. And I look at you all the time, and I, like, snap at you, like, to try to pay attention. Because someone is telling you something so heartfelt, and you'll say, yeah, uh-huh, yeah. And I'm looking at you snapping, like, pay attention to what they're saying.

02:06:46 - 02:06:47 | Unknown:

Oh, okay.

02:06:48 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she's, Chelsea knows, this is now our thing, too. if we're on the phone I always call after the show's over with like when we're leaving the studios at like one o'clock and stuff after we get done with our day I'll call Chelsea up on the in the car and occasionally you know I'll call and I'll get a text or two coming while I'm driving home on my eight hour ride home from our new studios here and so she'll go I'm gonna go and I'll go why are you so upset were you upset at the thing I just said and she'll go no I've been talking to you and I can tell that you're not paying attention at all to me you do do this

02:07:20 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 1:

thing where and chelsea you are so right i feel like you imitated it perfectly where you can tell you're not paying attention because you'll be like yeah and you raise your eyebrows yeah and i'm like you did not hear one single thing that was just said i know it yeah and it's not rude

02:07:36 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 2:

like i feel i don't do it intentionally but you have the attention span of nothing i used to have a gnat yeah it's zero so i'll tell you yeah when we're on the phone i'm like lift and we'll just talk later and then no no no no no no no no i'm just gonna start hanging up on

02:07:54 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 5:

you uh hold on a second here christina what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hi i just wanted to

02:08:02 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 3:

compare listening to computer tv and um phones at the same time to somebody chewing with their

02:08:08 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 5:

mouth open it's way overstimulated wait that's me too i chew with my mouth open too don't do that Oh, my God. Chelsea, what is more annoying, my mouth chewing or my watching of reels loud?

02:08:26 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 2:

All of the above, especially when you're eating your pretzel rod. Do you do it at the same time?

02:08:31 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 5:

I try to, yeah.

02:08:32 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

02:08:33 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's the latest one, Christina. I like these gluten-free pretzel rods, and I love these things. I'll sit there and eat a whole bunch of them, and I'll eat them, and she'll just go, enough. i know tired of chewing uh thanks christina take care of yourself thank you oh man what's up

02:11:12 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 4:

wife chelsea hey chelsea so hey so i think this must be a common thing with um radio show hosts Because back when I lived in St. Louis, and I used to listen to the Woody show, his wife, like, when Woody and his wife would get in an argument or something, his wife would be like, am I talking to Woody or Jeff?

02:11:31 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes.

02:11:34 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 3:

That is so funny.

02:11:36 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 2:

We were just talking about Woody this week, too.

02:11:37 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 3:

I got to call Woody and tell him that you called up Luba. He's the best. He's one of my great friends. He is awesome. That is awesome. I'm going to have to say that to him. Terry, what's up? Hi.

02:11:47 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 6:

Hello. So, are you one of those people that will pull up a TikTok and then go straight to the comments but leave the TikTok playing over and over and over while you're reading comments?

02:12:00 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, am I?

02:12:02 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know what you're doing, but he'll play it over and over. Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. I don't think he's reading the comments because I think he's watching TV or doing something. Oh, my gosh.

02:12:14 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Who does that, Terry, in your life? Who's the person that does that? um me she's calling herself that's right kelsey what's up it's mojo in the morning hi kelsey

02:12:26 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 5:

good morning morning what's going on so my husband will always know if i'm annoyed with him at dinner time because i will make everybody's food and plate it except for his which i do every night usually but he gets to make his own plate at night when i'm annoyed with him oh my god kelsey

02:12:48 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 3:

that's mean that is that is that is not the for better or worse till death do us part but it solves the argument it's done and over with i love it uh and uh elizabeth what's up

02:13:00 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 1:

elizabeth so if my husband's watching sports or something else and i'm trying to have a serious conversation with him i just start adding in like so i'm pregnant with twins i got pregnant um a couple weeks ago i don't know if they're yours but and i was thinking about getting this tattoo like over here on the side of my face and he literally would sit there and go uh-huh i'm like so did you hear that i was pregnant he's like what

02:13:27 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 4:

you got to ask for something legit and good make sure it's on video so you have proof and then you Go do that or buy that.

02:13:36 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 3:

That's classic. We'll talk to you later, Elizabeth. All right, Chels. All right. I sent you. Go into your Instagram, and I sent you a whole bunch of videos. That's the other thing, too, Chelsea, guys. Chelsea and I have a friend, Kevin Tierney, and Kevin will send me videos, and then I'll send the videos to Chelsea, and she'll go, you don't think he sends me the same videos? And she gets mad at me with that. So, all right. Love you. I'll talk to you later.

02:14:03 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. Love you, bye. Bye. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:14:20 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to throw it there. Did you hear the announcement that we made an hour ago? We are giving you another chance to win a car starting Monday. It is the Mojo in the Morning Find the Fob. and you could win a Corvette, an Equinox, a Silverado, a Trax, a Trailblazer, a Traverse, a Colorado, a Tahoe, or a Suburban. Your chance to win starts Monday morning right here on the Mojo in the Morning Show and it's all brought to you by Moran Chevrolet North on 15 Mile in Clinton Township. What do I got here? What else I got? I got to take care of some business. I got a couple seconds before I get into War of the Rose.

02:15:00 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 5:

Do you know that this is the highest listened to time of our week is right before a War of the Roses? Is it? Because the anticipation of people wanting to hear a relationship get wrecked. And so this is the time, like, you want to throw a quick plug out there to get people to know that they got to do, you know, hey, you got to know this, whatever. This is the time to do it.

02:15:20 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 1:

People also get so mad because they're like, shut up, Mojo, stop talking, just play the War of the Roses.

02:15:26 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm going to keep you waiting for one more second and tell you that we're tomorrow going to be broadcasting live from Comerica Park on the field getting ready to kick off the Tigers' home opener season. Tigers, by the way, lost last night to Seattle. So actually, Tarek Skubal's 0-2 right now. But he's had two good outings. He's only given up a few runs. Here's the thing. These guys are one of the – remember last year they didn't start off get great and then all of a sudden they got hot right there around the All-Star break. But this team is fun to watch. I mean, they're causing people fits. So they ain't the Dodgers who are like 8-0 right now, but the Tigers are getting close. So we're going to have tickets tomorrow morning. Listen to the show to win opening day tickets.

02:16:13 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:16:19 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 5:

Tessa, who do you think that your boyfriend is cheating with? I don't know that's the thing what's your reasoning of why you are worried that he's cheating

02:16:31 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

well he's done it before so there's that we have been together for two years and he did cheat on me earlier in our relationship and right now he's in texas on what he told me is a business trip

02:16:53 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 4:

and you don't think that he's you don't think he's doing business

02:16:57 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 2:

i don't think he's doing that like i i had a gut feeling that something wasn't right so i went with my gut and i put an air tag in his suitcase and what did you find out he's not at a hotel and that's a problem but he's in texas i don't he's in texas okay he's at a house okay a house that i googled it's just a house not an airbnb so have you have you

02:17:35 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 5:

send anything to him or you you have this info and you're not saying anything yet no i came straight to you guys that is smart by the way that's crazy putting the air tag in there and to check it out but he's told you i'm staying here and gave you the information like this is where i'm going to be this is my work all this stuff

02:17:57 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 2:

well no he didn't even give me all that he just said i have this business trip that came up and i asked him what is it for and he couldn't give me a straight answer and when i said well where are you staying he goes i haven't confirmed the hotel yet i'm not sure but now he's not at a

02:18:16 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 5:

hotel yeah okay all right we're going to uh give him a call to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses to we're hoping that they go to tessa and you have to just mute your phone so that you don't say anything and and he gets suspicious okay okay all right war of the roses

02:18:37 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 1:

hello hi is this blaze who's this hi blaze my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have 30 seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long stemmed red roses? No credit card info, nothing? It's honestly, it's super quick. It's free offer. I would take part in it myself. We will be, I will be off the phone with you in one minute and it's free flowers that will be sent out today. Do you have anybody in mind that you'd want to send flowers too you said you said flowers yeah hold on right long long stemmed red roses

02:19:32 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 3:

hold on hey you want flowers

02:19:37 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

02:20:00 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 2:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that arrangement. Again, it's going to go out today. It's a dozen long stemmed red roses, and I just need to get a first and a last name of who you would like

02:20:13 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 5:

these sent to. Megan with an H, M-E-G-H-A-N. And the last name? okay uh yeah yeah hello yeah sorry i'm sorry somebody um i just need a telephone number for megan uh i don't know that i have to check my phone um just use my number whatever this is

02:20:45 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 2:

okay so the thing is when the flowers get delivered we're actually going to send a text to Megan alerting her that she has a delivery and then we're also going to have you record a voice note in lieu of a card and that's going to get sent to her telephone number as well so when she gets the delivery she'll be able to hit play. Does that make sense?

02:21:08 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 5:

You know what? Let me just send it to me and I'll play it for her.

02:21:17 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I am creating a profile for you so I also really quick just need to get your relationship to Megan

02:21:24 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 5:

or her relationship to you you've asked it a lot of questions you said it was two questions

02:21:28 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 2:

well two survey questions but I do need to get information for we're just we're starting a profile for you so if you order flowers in the future hopefully you'll order from rosesbloom.com and this process will be even faster than it is today it's just a box I need to check off so is Chief family, co-worker, friend, girlfriend.

02:21:49 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 1:

He hung up the phone.

02:21:55 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 3:

She's right there. She just hung up?

02:21:59 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the person who he's sending him to, this Megan. Do you know a person with the name Megan?

02:22:08 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 3:

No. This is weird.

02:22:15 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 1:

So the person that he obviously is with is the person that he's with. Hank, what is that? What's that noise, Tessa?

02:22:32 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I think it's my ring doorbell.

02:22:35 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so it's, okay, I didn't know if he was trying to call you or something was going on. All right.

02:22:40 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:22:40 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 1:

Go answer your door or figure out what you got to do, and we're going to try to call him right back.

02:22:47 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. All right, voice dude, tell us the number for Mojo in the Morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

02:23:03 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. Moments ago, Tessa, you heard. test out her boyfriend away on a trip. And what sounded like him having a woman with him at that particular time, sending the flowers to her and not to Tessa. Tessa?

02:23:27 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:23:28 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 1:

All right. He's on hold with us. So hold on one sec. Blaze? Hello? Hey, Blaze Mojo in the morning. We're on the radio. I got to get your permission before I could put you on. Are you okay with having your voice on the radio? Why? Just to ask you a couple quick questions, I just wanted to ask you. We have a friend of yours on the phone that wanted to say hi to you. Are you okay with being on? I don't care. Okay, we're sorry for calling you so early in the morning, but we just tried to call you just a couple of moments ago to see where you wanted to send a dozen free roses and you sent the roses to a woman named Megan but the person that's on our phone is your girlfriend Tessa and she wants to know exactly why you did that.

02:24:25 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

And why are you at this gross house? Who's at our house? Well I know you're not at a hotel.

02:24:37 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 5:

How? What do you mean I'm not at a hotel? Where else would I be?

02:24:45 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 3:

Where are you right now?

02:24:49 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm in Texas working.

02:24:51 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't sound like you are because you just answered a phone call from florist and have time to send flowers to a girl who is... I was literally in a room with you in a house. You know, I trust you. I told you I'm working. No, no, don't. You're lying to me.

02:25:13 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 1:

No, you're fucking crazy. He hung up. Wow.

02:25:24 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know what to do with this right now. I am that was not well never mind that kind of was how I thought it was gonna go but also I just was hoping that I was being crazy and that my gut was not right he sounded like he was gonna lie

02:25:45 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 1:

more about not being in a house and stuff like that yeah hang on one second okay and we're gonna see what we can do about getting him back on I got a doubt that he's gonna ever pick up our phone

02:25:55 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 5:

call again hold on tessa all right okay hey what's up capri hi hi good morning guys good morning good morning what's going on i just wanted to make a comment on when you asked how you ever put a tracker in or on your significant other yeah you're tagged your man i did he's my ex-man though but he was a habitual cheater and a liar so i had bought an apple air tag and i put it in my car in my trunk because he would drive my car all the time when he would leave and so the thing about it is that apple just gives it away though it told him that i had the tractor in the car

02:26:39 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 1:

it will say an air tag is following you but a lot of times yeah i hate to say it these guys are dumb enough to do it this guy just did they're dumb enough not to notice that or know where it's

02:26:49 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 5:

where it's coming from but so yeah no he he texted me and was like did you put a tag in the car like

02:26:56 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 1:

yeah i did did you so you didn't you never got a chance to actually catch him or in-handed or did

02:27:01 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 5:

you ever no i i mean i caught him but just not by tracking him yeah so it wasn't through the air

02:27:08 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 1:

tag how'd you eventually catch him i went through his phone okay that's a good old phone uh capri Capri, thank you for the call. Appreciate you. Absolutely. Have a good day. You too. Capri sounds like a... Thanks, bye. Capri. Huh? You sound like you're a beautiful lady. Are you a beautiful lady?

02:27:26 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 5:

I sure am.

02:27:28 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's rate her right now. A scale of one to ten, Shannon, what do you think?

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 5:

What are you talking about?

02:27:31 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 1:

How beautiful do you think Capri is?

02:27:32 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 5:

Ten out of ten.

02:27:33 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 1:

She's a ten? Kev?

02:27:34 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go eight, leave some room. Oh, my God.

02:27:36 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm saying you're an 11. And I am. All right. I love it.

02:27:41 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

02:27:43 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. Love you, Capri. Thank you for calling. Take care of yourself. Khalid, what's going on, Khalid? What's going on? Good morning, guys.

02:27:52 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's up, buddy? So I had the same incident like the previous caller. My iPhone told me I'm being followed with the AirTag. So I never said anything. I ended up turning it off one night and came home. Sure thing, my ex-wife was with somebody else.

02:28:14 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 1:

So she was wanting to know when you were going to be home or something?

02:28:19 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Apparently, yeah. So I just ended up turning it off.

02:28:23 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

02:28:24 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 2:

It's like the opposite. Nobody has to access my car by her.

02:28:27 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:28:27 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

02:28:28 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:28:29 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 1:

Jeez, oh man.

02:28:30 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 3:

Why didn't she just try to convince you to share locations with each other or something?

02:28:34 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't that have been easier? The funny thing is, we already did.

02:28:38 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. So I don't understand. So she definitely wanted to know for sure. or she wanted to double the protection. That's crazy. Did you know the person that she was with?

02:28:49 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 2:

No idea. Well, can't with them no more. And they're the same chain with me. Yeah.

02:28:54 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 1:

By the way, another great option if you don't want to do an AirTag because you're worried about whether or not they're going to see the AirTag saying you're following is what Kiera did. What's that, Kiera?

02:29:05 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 4:

So I didn't use the AirTag, but I did leave an AirPod in the car on purpose.

02:29:12 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 1:

And it doesn't say you're following, right? What does it do?

02:29:16 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't. No, it would be like if I had my AirPod case in the car, it would say there's AirPods next to you. So I left a AirPod so I could track that AirPod.

02:29:30 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 1:

And then you go look where the AirPod... Did you catch anybody with that?

02:29:34 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 4:

I did. I really did. It broke my heart so badly. I did. They were at their ex-girlfriend's house. Oh, man, I'm sorry.

02:29:42 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 3:

But you are so smart.

02:29:44 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 1:

That's a great thing.

02:29:45 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I didn't want to get found out.

02:29:47 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though? It's interesting. I'm going to tell you that the next person I'm going to pick up here right now has a great response to both Tessa and you and all the other people.

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 2:

People that are putting air tags in there. Amanda, what did you want to say?

02:30:04 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I just feel like if you have to air tag your partner because you're suspicious, then you already know that you have a problem.

02:30:13 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's kind of like, yeah.

02:30:15 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 1:

And I think that Tessa realizes that the end all be all. Honestly, I always say that about anybody that reaches out to us to do a War of the Roses. Half the time I read these and I'm going, why you don't need us?

02:30:27 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But, I mean, every sentence needs its punctuation.

02:30:30 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:30:31 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

And I think that's what proof is for people.

02:30:33 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Lara, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

02:30:36 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. So I got two things real quick. Me and my boyfriend have always shared our location with one another on, like, 360. So we can always see what one another is doing. And then the other thing I was going to say, he is definitely cheating on her. literally asked Miss Megan, who was sitting next to him, if she wanted flowers.

02:30:59 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, right. I mean, come on, right? I mean, that was pretty obvious. That was the case. I think we just wanted to know who this Megan was and why she was doing this. But that call, and we've had that happen before when we've called somebody that was out of town or a long-distance relationship, where they're actually with the person at the time. Sean wants to comment on possibly who he's with.

02:31:22 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 6:

what's up sean hey what's up man how y'all doing what's going on hey what's up i listen to y'all that money y'all already know but anyway uh so my ex uh she used to she had a google tracking thing on my phone and she used to pull up at my house i mean she used to pull up at my auntie house when i was there i used to when i used to go out by myself she would pull she pulled up at my uncle house once thinking i'm doing something my cousin house thinking i was doing something everywhere like everywhere i went bro and you know it was kind of frustrating to me but at the same time i was like okay this is my girl and everything but it just used to it used to earth me like why

02:32:03 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 2:

why you don't trust me like what's going on with this what was she what were what were you doing that made her feel like she couldn't trust you why is this for okay this this is the thing this

02:32:13 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 6:

is the thing it was one time when we first got together i was at a hotel party with my friends And she pulled up, you know what I'm saying? And she thought I was doing something there. It was just a little hotel party. And she ain't trust me after that.

02:32:27 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 2:

But you weren't doing anything, though, right?

02:32:30 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 6:

No, I wasn't doing nothing. I had came from work and went straight to the party because my friend's birthday party. And he had a party at a hotel. And she thought it was something going on because I was at a hotel.

02:32:41 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. We believe you.

02:32:42 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 3:

See, sometimes it'd be these insecurities where the past relationship, you know, is a springboard for her.

02:32:48 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Shannon just winked when she said, we believe you, Sean, don't ever look up.

02:32:52 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to check this out. Check this out. I'm going to tell you like this from her doing all that to me, it made me very, very skeptical about who I'm being, who I'm going to be with. You know what I'm saying? And it, you know, it, it, it put a toll, it put a toll on who, you know, I mean, me, myself. Yeah. It's just like, I'm, I'm, I'm very secure now.

02:33:13 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, man, get some security, buddy. You sound like a great guy. And I think we've met, haven't we, Sean? Have we met anywhere? Yeah. Yeah, we know you.

02:33:20 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 6:

This is fight for the Sean. Yeah, we know you. This is fight for the Sean. And Megan got him begging.

02:33:25 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 2:

Megan does. Oh, that's you.

02:33:27 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 3:

This is you. I know who you are. She's begging for Dayquil right now. Yeah.

02:33:30 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 2:

She's not feeling good today. My favorite texter out of the entire text was 586. It says, Blaze should have been your first red flag. In the Monster Machines. Hold on a second. Hold on. Why is Capri calling us back? What's up, Capri? Why are you calling us back?

02:33:49 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 4:

Because I'm going to call Kevin out. Yeah, I knew it. Why? What'd I do?

02:33:54 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 2:

He gave you an A.

02:33:54 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 4:

Because you gave me an A, so I'm going to leave some room for you to not leave any room and go check my Instagram page out.

02:34:01 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Capri.

02:34:01 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what's your Instagram?

02:34:03 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 2:

Come on.

02:34:04 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 3:

Just send me a DM. I'll look at you.

02:34:06 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 2:

Wait, Capri. No, Capri, he doesn't need any more.

02:34:09 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 3:

Relax, bro. She called to talk to me.

02:34:12 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Capri. Chill, bro. He's.

02:34:14 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 3:

Capri, Kev knows on Instagram, K-E-V, K-N-O-W-S.

02:34:17 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 2:

When he gave you an aid, you know what he did? He just threw his fishing rod out there. It was basically him fishing there for you.

02:34:24 - 02:34:25 | Unknown:

That's not true.

02:34:25 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to say that because I know he had a problem with a girl having her baby on her Instagram, so mine is full of meat. So don't think I'm full of myself.

02:34:33 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 3:

That's what we like. You listen. All right, Capri. When you're your birthday, Capri. Jeez. I'm a sad December 4th. That's beautiful.

02:34:40 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 2:

All right, listen, I'm done with this whole thing.

02:34:42 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 3:

That's Jay-Z birthday, December 4th. Goodbye, Capri. You have to do that randomly. How? How? Bye, Capri.

02:34:49 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Unbelievable. This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the dirty of the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:35:00 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on what is trending in the Dirty. Coming up in a second. First, I want to give away Tate McCray tickets. Yeah. Text to win tickets right now. Sold out show in August. Text Tate, T-A-T-E, to 95500 and you could win. Text Tate to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply.

02:35:23 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:35:25 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 5:

What up, Shannon, in this Dirty on the 30?

02:35:28 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's start with this new Kanye song that is trending at the moment. Kanye West, Bianca Sensori, apparently split after she tried to have him committed. She left during a panic attack triggered by his tweets. All sorts of stories that we're getting from the lyrics of a new song called Bianca.

02:35:58 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 4:

Uh-oh. This is bad, bad, bad, bad.

02:36:22 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 3:

I like it. Talk to everybody. Tractor.

02:36:25 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Man, I like it. Interesting. I was excited because I thought that we could play that for Bianca if she ever, you know, needed a song.

02:36:33 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 4:

We can play that last part.

02:36:34 - 02:36:45 | Speaker 5:

You know what we should do, by the way? We should do our walk-up songs because tomorrow is opening day. We should ask listeners to pick for us, like, what would be our walk-up song. That's a great idea. I like it.

02:36:45 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 3:

All right. Was Justin Bieber shading Selena Gomez and her engagement to Benny Blanco in that meme that he posted to his Instagram story yesterday? I 1 million percent say yes. The meme in question is that scene from The Lord of the Rings when Gollum holds that gold ring up to his eyes. And he's looking at the ring in awe. And the caption on Justin's screenshot of this was, girls on social media when they get engaged.

02:37:13 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 6:

After further review. No, come on. After further review, I hate to say it, but I think I'm going to have to disagree with you. Why? I went to his Instagram story and I thought I was just going to see that real. Like it was just a one random thing.

02:37:26 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, he's been on a spree. He is on a spree over the past week or two, I would say.

02:37:31 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 6:

So that just makes me feel like it was just another funny video he saw. You don't think so? That was intentional. No coincidence. I'll trust you.

02:37:38 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 3:

Ellen Pompeo recalling starring in the music video for Taylor Swift's Bad Blood and the very generous gift that Taylor gave upon her asking. So she was a guest on the Jennifer Hudson show yesterday, and she was talking about how randomly she was asked to do the video for Bad Blood. She'd never met Taylor before. The video also features cameos by, speaking of, Selena Gomez and Day is in there, Gigi Hadid. Who else is in there? Marishka Hargitay, Cara Delvin. Anyway, she said that she had a request for Taylor, and Taylor totally followed through. Listen to this.

02:38:12 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 2:

I didn't know her, and she invited me to be in the video, and I thought, oh, that'll be fun. And I went and did the video. It was, honestly, it was the easiest thing. It was like an hour or two. and at the time Chris and I were we do a lot of volunteering for Children's Hospital Los Angeles here so I just you know got up the chutzpah and asked Taylor if I could you write me a big old check for children why and she honestly she knew me all but 20 minutes and that girl wrote me the biggest check without blinking an eye oh that's nice I love hearing those stories yeah yeah Taylor

02:38:43 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 3:

be throwing money around like I mean she has money to throw around that's true and lastly I don't know how many people watch the show anymore but she is somewhat of an icon inside editions deborah

02:38:58 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 5:

norville is retiring deborah norville is retiring yes the latest information on the amfrax scare

02:39:05 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 1:

a milestone like this is a time for reflection and on reflection i've decided that now is the time for me to move on from inside edition i feel like my mom used to watch that show every night

02:39:16 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 3:

So when I saw that this morning, I was like, oh.

02:39:18 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 5:

Inside Edition is on, I think it's on like Local 4 in Detroit in the afternoon. And it's always got like.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

20 headlines. Yeah.

02:39:32 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 5:

Like the stories like really kind of nicely packaged together and stuff like that. Interesting. Well, good luck to Debra Norville. I don't know how old she is nowadays.

02:39:42 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 3:

They're going to bring in like a, you know, Maria Menounos or somebody from E.

02:39:46 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 5:

have billy bush host another show he needs another show for all of today's dirty catch-up

02:39:52 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 3:

by checking out the podcast just search mojo in the morning

02:40:00 - 02:40:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. So, Serge, what are you going to say?

02:40:03 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 4:

You know what to do.

02:40:05 - 02:40:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay. They just make me say that. You're forced to say it. They do this.

02:40:13 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 4:

Go to the app, find our show. It should be on your preset anyway.

02:40:16 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 2:

All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. We're getting ready for some baseball, some Tigers opening day baseball. And we should have walk-up songs. Like the baseball players have walk-up songs. It's funny. I used to always laugh all the time that the players' baseball walk-up songs sometimes are either, like, really, really intense, where all of a sudden it's, like, some hardcore song, like, that they got to, like, take out all the dirty words in.

02:40:46 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:40:46 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 2:

Or you'll see, like, a guy that will make fun and, like, play, like, a Taylor Swift song.

02:40:51 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 1:

Or it'll be, like, the theme song to Bluey. Right. They do something.

02:40:54 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 2:

They do it for their kids or something like that. It's the only sport that I think has that, right? They don't do that in basketball. They just kind of have their openings and stuff. And then I know in football, it's like the same situation. The guys just run out on the field, and they're like, here's the offense. And it's like all the explosions and things like that. Jen, are you there, Jen?

02:41:15 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 3:

I am. Good morning.

02:41:16 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Jen. We're trying to see what would be our walk-up songs. From what you know of listening to this radio show, So if the announcer were to say, now batting, number 95, Mojo, like what would be my walk-up song?

02:41:32 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, your walk-up song? Even though you're from Chicago, we're going to overlook that because we claim you now. It's for sure, Journey, Don't Stop Believin'.

02:41:39 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I like that. That's a great one. Yeah. Just a small town girl. There you go. We claim you. That's a good one. Now batting, number 95, Mojo. She took him in that train girl. That's actually a good one. I think I've heard a player that has had that as their walk-up song.

02:42:01 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 4:

I like it.

02:42:03 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 2:

What about Shannon? Is there one for Shannon that you could come up with?

02:42:07 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

02:42:08 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 3:

I just know that one represents Detroit, and I feel like so do you. Oh, thank you. So that one is going to talk to my mind.

02:42:14 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 2:

How about for Shannon? We pick one. Let's see her. Oh, I know. Hold on. I got one for Shannon.

02:42:18 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm scared.

02:42:19 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this is good. This is going to be a good one. Because this would be, and I don't know if they've ever done this before. We'll have to ask, do you think that they will have the announcers and the people that play the music for us to talk to tomorrow when we're there? Now batting, what number do you want to be, Shannon?

02:42:35 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 4:

I want to be number, I don't know, eight.

02:42:38 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Number eight. I don't know where that came from.

02:42:41 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 4:

Shannon Murphy.

02:42:44 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for being my friend. That is perfect.

02:42:46 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 2:

Is that great?

02:42:46 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

I would skip right out. Travel down the road back again. Get home, right?

02:42:51 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 2:

There you go.

02:42:53 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 3:

I got one for Shannon. There you go. They play the whole thing.

02:43:01 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 1:

Why did I get so excited?

02:43:03 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Shannon would step out of the batter's box. She'd be like, excuse me, I want to hear my whole song. Cav, what number would be your number? 24. Now batting. Number 24. For Kevin.

02:43:23 - 02:43:24 | Unknown:

What?

02:43:29 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

I would take my bet and, like, point it to the crowd. Would you? I don't want to know. I like big butts and can't lie.

02:43:38 - 02:43:39 | Unknown:

You other brothers can't get me ready.

02:43:39 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 2:

This is for all the girls that have spent the night at your place.

02:43:42 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 1:

Relax, bro. In your face, you get sprung. Yeah, I like it. I like it. I like it. Did you notice that bunch of stuff? Yeah.

02:43:48 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 2:

Hey, actually, Hana has a better one for you. What's up, Hana? How you doing? I'm good. How are you? Fantastic. You got one for Kev?

02:44:01 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think it'd be Stronger by Kanye. Come on now.

02:44:04 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that would actually be a good one, too. Wouldn't that be good? Come on, Yeezy. Now batting number 24. Why 24? Why did you pick 24? Same 24. Come on. Oh, that's right.

02:44:16 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 1:

Gotta stay on brand. Oh, don't forget Daft Punk is on this song also. There you go. Oh, that's right. You lost it in the throwback throwdown. Like this.

02:44:29 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 2:

That's a good one. Great selection. Very good one, Anna. Thank you. Appreciate it. Liz has a better one for Shannon than you think the Golden Girls. What do you think?

02:44:41 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 4:

I think Goody's by Ciara. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.

02:44:45 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

A little shit in there with a goodie. I am not that cool. Now bang. A little Petey Pablo. Who's the, is there a guy that is the PA announcer that we should know, like, his name and stuff? My boy PL is emceeing tomorrow. Is he? I don't know if he's going to do something.

02:45:00 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 8:

players or if he's uh i sent you his instagram yesterday now batting number eight shannon

02:45:04 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 5:

oh my god that's a great one it is i love it i love this pick everybody loves shannon has any player ever gone up and started dancing to their song i've never

02:45:23 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 10:

seen that before i watched some baseball but i've never really seen it before where they're out there kind of doing their dance. My favorite is when there's the Venezuelan players or, you know, the players from the Dominican Republic, and they'll come out and their songs are... Like in Spanish? It's like...

02:45:41 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 9:

No, they're usually like rap.

02:45:43 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 10:

Really?

02:45:44 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 9:

They're usually rap.

02:45:45 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 10:

Or they're... What the hell is his name? Or Bad Bunny? Bad Bunny.

02:45:52 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 4:

Bad Bunny.

02:45:52 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, they're like a Bad Bunny song or something.

02:45:54 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 4:

Nori or... Yeah, I don't know.

02:45:56 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 10:

It's like, now batting, number 24, Miguel Cabrera. Yeah. What's up? Oh, Megan's not here today, but we got one for Megan, courtesy of Angela. Angela, we're hoping Megan's with us tomorrow for the game. What's yours? Milkshake. Now batting. She'll love it.

02:46:34 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 2:

Megan. She'll love it. My milkshake brings all our boys to the yard.

02:46:37 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 10:

That's a great one.

02:46:38 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 2:

It's better than yours, damn right. It's better than yours. This is perfect.

02:46:43 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 10:

That is a great one. That is really good. That's so awesome. There's some good ones, by the way. I wonder how many players have a Kendrick song this year. Oh, bro. It's got to be a lot, right?

02:46:59 - 02:46:59 | Unknown:

Probably.

02:46:59 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 9:

Are you shaking your head because, like, it's so common? No, we love Kendrick. Let me relax.

02:47:04 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 10:

No, but it's so popular.

02:47:06 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. That's an easy pick. Yeah. Give me something intentional. Yeah. Not just something that's popular. Yeah.

02:47:13 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 10:

Hold on a second. I like this one better. Marino, are you there?

02:47:18 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 7:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? How are you doing? Kev, I'm good. How are you guys?

02:47:23 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 10:

Fantastic. Go ahead. What's up for Kev?

02:47:25 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 7:

So for Kev, I would do just a little bit. And for you, I would do Stevie B's Spring Love.

02:47:30 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 10:

Oh, my God. That's great. No, that's great. No. So Kev, now batting number 24. Take the bat. Irwin. Take the bat.

02:47:42 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 8:

Hit my cleats.

02:47:42 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 4:

That's a perfect one.

02:47:44 - 02:47:45 | Unknown:

A little bit of that.

02:47:46 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 4:

Get it cracking in the club when you hit it.

02:47:47 - 02:47:48 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:47:48 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 4:

A little bat flip.

02:47:49 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 10:

Let me see you go up and down. Thank you, buddy. Now, intro me. Intro me. Now batting number 95, Mojo, say.

02:48:01 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 6:

Now batting number 95, Mojo in the morning. Come on.

02:48:09 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 10:

Where are my Chaldeans at right now? You honestly could not have any other song.

02:48:13 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 6:

I'm on the phone.

02:48:13 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I love this song. It's so good. Chaldeans, we played this at all our weddings.

02:48:17 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 8:

Do y'all do the robot too?

02:48:19 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. The Chaldean version of it would be Baguia for the robot. Baguia!

02:48:26 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 4:

I love you too. Love you too. Thank you. I remember when this first started. You killed me and he was broken hearted. I could keep in the night from all your tears away. I never loved it any other day. We need some warm weather, man.

02:48:49 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 10:

We need some warm weather so we can listen to this car in our black Cadillac Escalade with spinners.

02:48:55 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 4:

Spinners.

02:48:57 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 10:

Spinners need to come back, by the way. Bell Tire, are you listening to me? Bring back spinners. My winter fat is gone

02:49:18 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 3:

Now I just have spring rolls This is Mojo in the Morning

02:49:22 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 10:

Mojo in the Morning show Kevin says that

02:49:29 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 8:

a lady should never say this yes a woman should never say i gotta go take a piss oh god i should never hear that i should never hear that come out of your mouth who's i agree a friend of my friend of mine facetime yesterday she uh she spends a lot of time with her family and they have like cousins dinner every week and she facetimes she's like hey i got a question for you i'm like what's the question should a woman say piss i'm like i mean she can but it's not really ladylike, and then all her cousins in the background are like,

02:50:00 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 3:

See, told you. And I fully agree. I think you can say, like, I got to go pee. But, like, to say I got to take a piss is like, eh.

02:50:08 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 2:

No, you can't say that. That's like a guy thing. Exactly. That's a total guy thing.

02:50:11 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 1:

I hate it when guys say it, too. Really? Yeah, I just hate it. Yep.

02:50:16 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 2:

I can see that.

02:50:17 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 1:

What's wrong with saying that, though? I don't know.

02:50:19 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 2:

Or you don't want to hear. I could never hear you say, I'm going to go take a dump.

02:50:24 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 3:

A woman should never say that. A woman should never say that.

02:50:28 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 1:

No. And honestly, I get dinged by my own children because I always say I'm going to go potty. And Lucy's like, Mom, you don't have like a baby anymore. Yeah, adults can never say that. So that's what she, yeah.

02:50:42 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 2:

The other one, too, is I cannot stand, I cannot stand when I hear my sister Tracy does this all the time. My sister Tracy was like, yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't answer the phone. I was pooping. I don't want to hear somebody say the word poop as an adult. Like, I don't want to hear, like, you know what I mean?

02:50:58 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 1:

I feel like you say that a lot. I don't mind poop.

02:51:00 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 2:

Just say you were going to the bathroom.

02:51:02 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mind, and I don't know why?

02:51:05 - 02:51:05 | Unknown:

Poo.

02:51:06 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Poo? Poo. The word poo. Poo.

02:51:09 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 1:

Just add the P. Poop. But poo bothers the F out of me.

02:51:13 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:51:14 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 1:

I just imagine a huge P. Poop, I'm good with. Poo.

02:51:17 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 3:

That's like a bear did it or something. Yeah, poo is poop. There's a lot in there. Poop. Poop.

02:51:25 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 2:

um what are what are some other things that women cannot say like you're not a lady if you say

02:51:31 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 3:

certain things like that yeah do you have any like with when you're out with your girlfriends or stuff like that that they've said shannon you've been like let's not do that uh i don't know piss at the top of the list for me yeah like don't don't let that come out your mouth not you got to be like a butch dyke or something you gotta have like a shaved head and like a

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 1:

leather jacket i'm not talking because my mouth's just hanging open at that comment that was your

02:52:01 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 2:

comment no no you don't say that at all i don't think i don't think guys should say that either though too but i agree with shannon it does sound bad i gotta take i i um about if she says she got she got to say i gotta go i gotta like are you talking only bathroom no no anything no like sex the sex ones too i was trying to think of one the other day and my buddy was telling me

02:52:24 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 1:

that his girl said this and it just said um i got one yeah i don't i think that girls saying the t

02:52:33 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 3:

word is really their tops trashy yes like use it in a sentence like what way we're not allowed to I mean, like, you could just say the two things, but like, in what way, though?

02:52:44 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 1:

When they're like, my, my cheese looks so good.

02:52:50 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 2:

So, so what do you hate that word, too?

02:52:54 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 1:

I always hated that word.

02:52:55 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 2:

What do you refer to your, your breasts as?

02:52:57 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 1:

My boobs.

02:52:58 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My breasts look so good.

02:53:02 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 1:

Like, yeah.

02:53:03 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, look, we're going to announce here this morning that there's a Kesha concert that's coming. And hold on. Let me say, and by the way, it's called Kesha's The Tease Out Tour, but she uses the word. That's what it's called. July 19th, happening at Pine Knob with support acts Scissor Sisters and Rose Gray. They're going to be there.

02:53:29 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 3:

The Scissor Sisters on The Tease Out Tour.

02:53:32 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 2:

So that show goes on sale on, what the heck date? When does it go on sale? It doesn't say her. Goes on sale when? There's nothing to announce with that, Lydia?

02:53:44 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 3:

The show is July 19th, though.

02:53:46 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Is it on sale next week?

02:53:48 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 3:

I think it's on sale next Friday.

02:53:50 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 2:

Next Friday. So next Friday. So a week from this Friday. You can go get tickets for that. What's going on? Michael, hi. What's up? How you doing? What is it that you can't hear a lady say?

02:54:05 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 3:

Caught alone.

02:54:07 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 2:

Caught alone. You know, honestly, I agree. If Shannon says, I'm going to go cut a loaf, you know what cut a loaf means? Cut a loaf? Like if Shannon says that, you're like, yeah, I don't know if I want to see that.

02:54:21 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 1:

Cut a loaf. Yeah, that's a little too much for a woman. No. No, no.

02:54:26 - 02:54:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What about when you're referring to your vagina as the T word?

02:54:35 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 1:

No, that word to me is uh-uh.

02:54:38 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 2:

You don't like that at all?

02:54:39 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't. No, the Pope could say that word and I would still uh-uh.

02:54:42 - 02:54:48 | Speaker 2:

Like, Courtney, you cannot say the word, but you don't ever use that word, do you? The T-W-A-T?

02:54:48 - 02:54:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, I have. Oh, my God. That word makes me want to throw up.

02:54:55 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Where are you from? Let me guess on this one here where you're from. You're from...

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

Monroe sure no where you're from hold on Lapeer oh my god no I'm thinking you got to be from like

02:55:06 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 4:

some some sticks like where are you from sticks well I grew up in a small town outside of Flint

02:55:14 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 3:

okay okay Schwartz Creek you know what I can see that Schwartz Creek yeah so you so you when you refer to it. Like, use it in a sentence without saying the word. Just say my T.

02:55:28 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh. I usually use it to call somebody that. Oh, you're saying

02:55:32 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 3:

your T. Oh, you can say that in and on the air. Oh, for real? Let's see. Yeah, that person's

02:55:36 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 1:

a twat. No, you can't. I love it. No. Why? You cannot say that word.

02:55:42 - 02:55:43 | Speaker 3:

I can say they're a dick.

02:55:43 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 1:

I think it's very different.

02:55:46 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I feel like if you say that word, you gotta have like an English accent. Like, that's the only way. Twat. Yeah, that's the way it works. Yes. I agree.

02:55:54 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 3:

I agree. You can say that. English people can say it any time. Little twat. Little twat. What's up? How are you doing?

02:56:01 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 4:

I'm so uncomfortable with this guy.

02:56:02 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 3:

Kat, what's going on, Kat?

02:56:05 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 4:

I was told to say this directly to Kevin because I say it all. Jeez. I say it all, and I'm a very pretty, very married, straight woman. I'm not a bull dyke. I say all the things that are inappropriate for a woman to say because I think it's BS that we are like, oh, it's not ladylike. I never said I was a lady.

02:56:23 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 2:

I know how to conduct myself. You sound like you piss. But I will say, huh? I say you sound like you take pisses. No, you do. Oh, yeah. Like while you smoke cigarettes too late. Cat. You seem like you smoke a cigarette and ash it in the toilet. Cat.

02:56:40 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't smoke, but. Cat, you know what? So you don't want to be ladylike. You're saying that that whole idea of saying you're not ladylike. I don't want any part of that, right?

02:56:51 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, here's the thing. I know how to conduct myself. I can be ladylike. I know how to do that. But in the same respect, I don't like the fact that I can't say, oh, you know, it's not ladylike to go say I got to go take a piss. I'm going to say that. It just doesn't go to me.

02:57:04 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 3:

By the way, can I be honest with you? Sure. I do want you to know that this radio show is definitely not ladylike. There's nobody on.

02:57:15 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 4:

I listen to you guys every morning, every chance I get. So I've been listening to you guys for like 20 years.

02:57:19 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 3:

We love you. Thank you, Kat. She sounds really cool, too. What's up, Laurel?

02:57:25 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. First time long. Hey, everybody. Love you guys. I just want to say, I don't think it's very ladylike when a woman says, I have to take a leak.

02:57:38 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's crazy. Oh, that's a good one.

02:57:40 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm Polish, and we would say, we have to shoo-shoo.

02:57:45 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 3:

if you said leak like that if you said that you had to take a leak and your dad heard you would

02:57:52 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 5:

he be like what the hell did you just say he would say i did not raise you right i'm the only girl so

02:57:58 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 3:

you got to be ladylike yeah that's funny somebody just texted and said uh megan is awfully quiet

02:58:04 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

during this segment megan's not in she's out sick today oh i wish megan was there today

02:58:08 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 3:

and then another person said i've heard megan say twat waffle before My least freaking favorite word

02:58:19 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 1:

And it's been said four times In the past two minutes

02:58:22 - 02:58:30 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo This is Mojo in the Morning

02:58:30 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh Mojo he's amazing

02:58:32 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Live Mojo in the Morning Yeah Yeah Mojo in the Morning Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 The text is 95500 Oh, God, I got to talk about this So, not in a sexual way But are there people that have adult sleepovers? And what I mean by this is Like, you're grown-ass adults You're not like 10 or 12 years old and you have your adult friends all come over, hang out, you guys drink together, and then you guys sit around, watch movies or TV, and just kind of enjoy, you know, the night, and then everybody goes and sleeps and then wakes up the next morning because we were having a conversation about how, you know, Luke's away at school, so he's not home. So it's just Chels and I in the house, and one of my guy buddies was like, you know what we should do? And I'm like, what's that? He goes, we should get a group of guys together and we should have a sleepover at your house. And I'm like, I don't think that's going to happen. I don't think I'm going to be able to say to Chelsea, hey, I'm going to have a guy, Steve and Will, you know, and John and, you know, they're going to come over and we're going to.

03:00:00 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 1:

all hang out and we're gonna like you know watch like the nba on uh tnt order some pizzas and then play video games in the basement afterwards you know like are there people that tuck each other in and then no well no and then we all stay up and don't fall asleep because somebody's gonna like you know make the other pee or something like that you know remember when you're a kid and you do the sleepovers and then the next morning mom would always make breakfast for you you know or get mcdonald's or something into the house i feel like would you ever do that like if If I said, hey, Kev and Zach, would you guys come over to the house? You guys have come over and we've had nighttime. We've ordered DoorDash and stuff.

03:00:38 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 3:

We had nighttime.

03:00:39 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 1:

No.

03:00:40 - 03:00:42 | Speaker 3:

Nighttime play dates. We had nighttime.

03:00:42 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 1:

This guy is so homophobic.

03:00:44 - 03:00:48 | Speaker 2:

You literally said, you and Zach came over, we had nighttime. Well, we hung out at night. That's not even me.

03:00:49 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 1:

We hung out at night. We didn't have nighttime. Come on.

03:00:52 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 3:

I bet both of you guys would spend the night.

03:00:55 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

I was about to say, I would come over, but I don't know why I would spend the night. I have no reason to spend a night.

03:01:01 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 1:

I've had it. Well, the problem is you drink so much and you don't. If I'm drunk. You can't get an Uber from my house. But that's different to me.

03:01:09 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 3:

That's like you came over to hang out and you drank too much. So you're being smart. This is this you're talking about is more of a planned. Everybody bring a sleeping bag and a pillow.

03:01:20 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 1:

I would love like I would love to have a group of guys come over and I would love for group guys come over. We all hang out. We all drink. But I want you to leave. Like, I want you out of my house at a certain point. But I also don't like you to leave and drive your own car. So a lot of times I've said to these guys, I'm like, hey, you know what we should do? I should have, like, Lori over at Top Notch get, like, a truck and then, like, drive everybody home. Yeah. Or something. Yeah. But the idea, though, is these guys all think that my house would be perfect because the basement, we have a really nice TV and the boys have their video game system. And they're all like, it'd be great, man. We'll all just sit there and play. I'm not playing video games. I am a 50-year-old man that does not want, you know, to sit there and play video games with a bunch of guys.

03:02:06 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 3:

My girlfriends and I were truly just talking about this a week or two ago. We celebrated somebody's birthday, and we said, we just need to have a sleepover so we don't have to worry about everybody needs to be home, you know, to relieve their husbands and put the kids to bed around 9 or 9.30 or whatever. We just need to have a sleepover. See, now I'm okay with that. I don't want to go in. It would not be that. Are you kidding me? We're a group of late 30, early 40, something. We would all be asleep by 930.

03:02:31 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 1:

I would actually, Chelsea said, hey, me and my friends are all sleeping over. I'd be like, all right. Pillow fights and things like that.

03:02:39 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 2:

You're thinking of who's opening on the Kesha tour.

03:02:42 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Why do you got to bring that up? I don't even want to talk about that show.

03:02:46 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 2:

Because of the name of the group.

03:02:47 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, that's right. What's going on?

03:02:50 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't think I can see it, though. I don't think it's so funny.

03:02:53 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Jalen, what's up?

03:02:55 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just saying that I think camping is adult sleepover. Camping? Oh, yeah, kind of.

03:03:01 - 03:03:07 | Speaker 1:

That is kind of a thing. Like, you get around a campground, and then you kind of go all to your normal spots, right?

03:03:08 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we used to go camping up north, and we'd have, like, five spots, and we'd all get, like, super drunk and sit there and party until we pass out.

03:03:15 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 1:

Would it be weird, though, if a group of guys all went camping together and slept in the same tent with each other?

03:03:21 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 4:

No. Oh, yes.

03:03:22 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 1:

I don't know like I don't know I couldn't if you go on a guy's trip yeah do you share a hotel room and if you share a hotel room do you share a bed no no I never know not though I share beds all the time you do yes like if I go if we did the last guy's trip that I went on we went to Pinehurst went golfing and we all had our separate rooms but if I had to I would get a room with two beds and be fine with that. And not to, it's just, it's weird. But then again, I don't know. We too old for that. But I have no problem sharing a bed if I'm sharing a bed with my sons or sharing a bed with my brothers. You know what I mean?

03:04:07 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, y'all have done it before. You know what I mean? Listen, I should.

03:04:11 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I went to Morning Show Boot Camp one time with Jeff Dollar. You want me to tell the story again? It's so funny. I went to Morning Show Boot Camp with Jeff Dollar, who was my producer. He used to work on the Burt Show, too. And I woke up in the morning, and I look, and Jeff Dollar is laying in the bed next to me, naked, on top of the covers. Oh. And his big, hairy, white ass is on top of the covers with his D just hanging. I was like, oh.

03:04:36 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 3:

So you have trauma there.

03:04:37 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 1:

I got a little bit of childhood trauma. He wanted you. No, he said that it was hot. That was real good. Lena, what's going on? It's been nighttime.

03:04:45 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Hi, you guys. Good morning.

03:04:47 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on?

03:04:48 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

So I was just calling about, like, how you saying you would want to invite your guy friends over and you guys, you know, chill and hang out and let it be like a little sleepover.

03:05:00 - 03:05:14 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say, I have my husband. I would not mind him doing that. Just as long as it's not, like, sprung up on me. Like, it got to be planned out. You got to let me know, like, two weeks in the end. Would you make? And I probably wouldn't even cook breakfast the next morning.

03:05:14 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 1:

Would you make? I was going to say, would you make pancakes and bacon and eggs and sausage for these guys?

03:05:20 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 3:

I would definitely cook the next morning.

03:05:22 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 1:

Would you make smiley face pancakes?

03:05:24 - 03:05:24 | Speaker 3:

No.

03:05:27 - 03:05:31 | Speaker 1:

I love that you would do that. You're a special wife. What's up, Kelsey? Hi.

03:05:33 - 03:05:34 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you doing? Good morning.

03:05:35 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 1:

Hey, we're doing good. What's going on? We're talking about adult sleepovers.

03:05:38 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, me and my girlfriends do that. We've had two in the last, like, eight months, I would say. We're, like, in our late 30s. We plan a date, and we just go out to dinner. We go to the bar. Then we come back and, you know, eat snacks, like you said, watch movies, hang out. Oh, my God, the snacks. With our husbands, we put our kids to bed, and we just hang out.

03:05:59 - 03:06:04 | Speaker 1:

I forgot about the snacks, too. Like, what kind of snacks do you get for an adult sleepover?

03:06:05 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, just the stuff you get. We actually went to CVS after the bar and picked up our favorite ones, you know.

03:06:10 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 1:

That's great.

03:06:11 - 03:06:12 | Speaker 5:

Cheetos, Doritos, stuff we never eat.

03:06:13 - 03:06:31 | Speaker 1:

Remember I told the story about, and I had her on the air, the friend of mine, that she and her husband were over at a friend's house, and the two girls went to the shower together and stuff. I think, like, this stuff happens if the couples are all there. Like, did it turn into a weird thing, like, where you guys all got naked and showered together?

03:06:32 - 03:06:33 | Speaker 5:

No, no.

03:06:34 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

03:06:34 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 5:

But I will say, my husband was home, and he slept on the couch, and me and my friends slept in our bed, and the other two slept in the guest bed.

03:06:41 - 03:06:44 | Speaker 1:

Did he feel like, what the hell, I got kicked out to the couch?

03:06:45 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 5:

No. We've known these girls for a long time, so I was just, like, excited to see them and hang out.

03:06:52 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 2:

I love my friends. I would never sleep in their beds that they share with their husbands. No? Wow. Because I know what goes on in those beds. Do you know what I mean? I don't know that I would ever sleep in their bed.

03:07:07 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Polly? How you doing?

03:07:10 - 03:07:11 | Unknown:

Hi. Hey.

03:07:12 - 03:07:35 | Speaker 4:

So we've done this mostly after parties we've thrown or like a night out. Me and the girls will stay out and the guys will go home with the kids. and then all of us girls will come home and we'll all kind of either sleep in the living room after watching a movie or half of them will sleep in the living room, half will sleep in the kids' room, and I'll go back to my room.

03:07:35 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 1:

Wow, and where's your husband at at the time?

03:07:39 - 03:07:46 | Speaker 4:

He is probably usually already in bed because he doesn't drink. So he'll stay home with our kids, and then, yeah, we go out.

03:07:47 - 03:08:09 | Speaker 1:

And then you go out and do it. Because I always feel like the guy of whosoever house you're having the sleepover at, or if it's this case, being a guy's sleepover, the wife, they get screwed out of the deal. Like, Chels has to be out of town for me to ever want to do something like this. I've had where friends have come into town and stayed at my house. Yeah. And I thought that that actually was kind of, like, Mike's done it. Mike's, you know, slept overnight at my house.

03:08:09 - 03:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Many times.

03:08:09 - 03:08:33 | Speaker 1:

Mike is so funny. The funniest thing is, one night I go, all right, Mike, I gotta go to bed. And he goes, already? Like, he was off. and it reminded it reminded me so much of when mom would say he lights out guys we got to turn it out like he was so upset yeah what's up pam hi how are you what's going on pam i just wanted

03:08:33 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 6:

to say men do it all the time they call it hunting fishing that's right oh that's good

03:08:39 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 1:

right isn't that right uh i've never you know i don't know if you know this but i'm not really a hunter or a fisherman or something but i when i guys do this and they go up north together to me i'm like and where are we staying like i'm like always thinking about what hotel that uh that we're going to be at broback mountain is your guy no i'm not thinking

03:09:01 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 6:

does your guy go hunting all the time pam he goes hunting and fishing and whatever and i snowmobiling up north with the group of guys yeah i say bye have fun i've had a lot of friends that

03:09:13 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 1:

want me to go snowmobiling too that that's the big deal uh i always say i'll do it if i can go up to the uh the casino there by cmu like i'm oh they've they've stayed in there oh yeah before

03:09:26 - 03:09:31 | Speaker 6:

yeah they go to the casino and stay sometimes but yeah i i think it's fun for them i don't care

03:09:31 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

that's cool what a good wife thank you for the call i appreciate it all right see ya take care all right top trending stories right now oh boy look at this these uh you've heard about the tariffs and all that stuff the tariffs not doing well when it comes to uh the uh the markets wall street uh not looking great right now i guess uh just a a moment ago they said that uh the wall Street markets were down from.

03:10:00 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 2:

From the beginning of April, they were down almost 1,000 points in the past five days. Here's a story. So yesterday, the tariffs went into place, which is interesting. I saw a story that they were going to go into place on April 1st, but they didn't do April 1st because they worried that people would think it was April Fool's Day. Because it was so shocking to see how many tariffs were going to be put on goods coming from other countries.

03:10:28 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 7:

Overnight, stocks plunging as economists sound the alarm over President Trump's new trade war. We're going to see a lot of pain across the entire economy here. Trump announcing 10% tariffs on nearly all imports. But about 60 countries, including some of America's closest trading partners, will face steeper tariffs, including 20% on goods from the European Union. The EU's leader calls it a major blow to the world economy. But Trump says it will stop other countries from ripping off the U.S.

03:10:55 - 03:11:05 | Speaker 1:

Chronic trade deficits are no longer merely an economic problem. They're a national emergency that threatens our security and our very way of life.

03:11:05 - 03:11:35 | Speaker 7:

Goods from Vietnam will face 46 percent tariffs, which could mean higher prices for shoes. Half of Nike's factories are in Vietnam. Online discount furniture store Wayfair also has production facilities there. And when it comes to China, online retailers Xi'an and Timu will no longer be exempt, as Trump imposes an additional 34 percent tariff on products from China for a combined 54 percent rate. Analysts say businesses here at home will pass the extra costs onto consumers, leading to job losses.

03:11:35 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 6:

What happens? Sales go down. What happens when sales go down? People get laid off. So I'm quite concerned about this because I think we can see a very clear path for massive disruption that will lead to a lot fewer jobs in America.

03:11:48 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 7:

China overnight blasted the tariffs and vowed to take countermeasures. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson is warning countries not to retaliate.

03:11:56 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 3:

Let's see where this goes, because if you retaliate, that's how we get escalation.

03:12:01 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 7:

The president insists the short-term pain of higher prices will result in a long-term gain of U.S. manufacturing jobs and billions in new revenue.

03:12:10 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 1:

This is one of the most important days, in my opinion, in American history. It's our declaration of economic independence.

03:12:18 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 7:

But some business owners question just how long it might take to rebuild certain industries in the U.S.

03:12:25 - 03:12:37 | Speaker 4:

We sell high-end contemporary furniture where I would say 90% is made overseas. I don't think that the furniture manufacturing is ever going to come back to the U.S.

03:12:37 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting, the people, though, from the UAW seem like they're really into this thing, which has led that, I guess there were some UAW workers that yesterday chose to go to D.C. when Trump was announcing this thing. And then the UAW president, Sean Fain, who had been really outspoken against Trump during the election, he actually said how in favor of this he was.

03:13:05 - 03:13:22 | Speaker 5:

Efforts cannot stop there. If they're going to bring jobs back here, you know, they need to be life-sustaining jobs where people can make a good wage, a living wage, have adequate health care, and have a retirement security and not have to work seven days a week or multiple jobs just to scrape to get by paycheck to paycheck.

03:13:22 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 2:

I was kind of shocked to see how many vehicles that we have on the road that we call American vehicles actually have parts that come from Canada, come from Mexico, and how much is being built in other places. But also to see the difference in the fact that a vehicle that you might see that looks like or has been known as being, oh, this is purely built here, still is going to get tariffed because it might have two or three parts that are from, you know, another country. But it's going to be interesting. I don't know. I know that it does seem to me like where it will affect the average person is the stuff like the T-Moose. You know what I mean? Or the Amazon purchasing of things. Because everything seems like it's made in China. TikTok shop. Or China. I've never bought anything from TikTok. I live on TikTok shop. Here's a story that we haven't covered in the dirty. And it's such a huge story this morning. The son of former New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner died with the family on a vacation in Costa Rica. And we now know the death and the reason for the death. The toxicology reports released just a couple of days after his death show high levels of carbon monoxide in his system. And now they're saying that the room that they were staying in was butted up against a mechanical closet that they had at the hotel.

03:14:58 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

So it was just the room specific.

03:15:00 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 4:

that he was sleeping in is that well they say that they said he was the one he died so he was the only one that was tested for carbon monoxide i don't know if the whole family is going to get tested tested at first they thought it might have been food poisoning that was the cause of death but it is oh so sad it is now and we've heard this happen before where people go to mexico or costa rica or uh the dominican republic and they will go and because they don't have rules about carbon monoxide detecting detectors in these rooms people will end up dying and then they find out later that they have carbon monoxide in their body yeah they're telling people if you're traveling anywhere it doesn't make a difference where you're traveling even in the united states you should bring your own personal carbon monoxide detector which i would never think right but it's but what's wild shannon is that you if you go to other countries you have to bring a special plug for your phones yeah like all it would be is adding one more thing to put in i know it's deep but i will i'll tell you this after seeing this whole thing i don't know man i don't know if like i get so worried with the whole traveling out of the the country uh stuff with that girl that died in in dominican and stuff yeah do you remember the story that we covered on the show and i know a lot of people saw it online on tiktok and then saw it probably on the pat mcafee show the story about that girl from old miss the sorority girl that oh yes they said was having an affair with her boyfriend's dad and it came out turned out to be a whole fake story turned out to be a bunch of boys that made up the story she said she was like begging people

03:16:35 - 03:16:49 | Speaker 2:

to believe her that it was not a real story and the crazy part entire internet half of the country hating you this is the girl and calling you disgusting things telling you to kill yourself telling you that you're a horrible person that you deserve to die that's that's a really hard

03:16:49 - 03:17:15 | Speaker 3:

thing for a girl to go through. In her first TV interview, Ole Miss freshman Mary Kate Cornett told me how she became famous on the internet and social media in the worst possible way. In February, an online rumor went viral claiming an Ole Miss sorority sister slept with her boyfriend's father. Then someone attached Cornett's name and photo to it. Do you know why the rumor

03:17:15 - 03:17:27 | Speaker 2:

started no clue no clue i had zero zero zero knowledge of this this disgusting rumor was a top trending topic on twitter within two and a half hours later that night around 7 p.m i was

03:17:27 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 3:

number one trending in the united states cornet's phone number was also shared online she was overwhelmed with harassing texts and voicemails i was having thousands of calls come through

03:17:39 - 03:17:50 | Speaker 2:

thousands of texts coming through calling me a whore calling me a slut telling me i deserve to die all because of an internet all because of an internet rumor that has zero truth to it zero

03:17:50 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 3:

cornet says she could barely leave her dorm room had to switch to online someone even sent police to her mother's house in a fake 9-1-1 call some old miss frappro okay i had a kd girlfriend soon the rumor was picked up by espn host pat mcafee though he didn't use her name this is what is

03:18:12 - 03:18:19 | Speaker 1:

being reported by everybody on the internet that had sex with son's girlfriend i'm not a public

03:18:19 - 03:18:24 | Speaker 2:

figure that you can go talk about on your show to get more views cornet says she hit rock bottom

03:18:24 - 03:18:30 | Speaker 3:

when she realized her name would forever be linked to the rumor spread online i don't think that

03:18:30 - 03:18:36 | Speaker 2:

these boys realize what they're doing to people isn't that crazy and this poor girl she's right

03:18:36 - 03:18:44 | Speaker 5:

her name even though it is not true like it will still come up yeah right as she's gonna be linked

03:18:44 - 03:18:48 | Speaker 2:

to the story she had to pull herself out of school isn't that crazy the worst feeling in the world

03:18:48 - 03:18:56 | Speaker 3:

it makes you feel so alone cornette now wants justice her lawyer says she's been defamed and

03:18:56 - 03:19:04 | Speaker 2:

is a victim of cyber bullying the rumor is false people promoted it without looking into it she You can't lie for money.

03:19:04 - 03:19:16 | Speaker 3:

Cornette says no one has apologized. ESPN and Pat McAfee declined NBC News' request for comment. For now, she says she's leaning on her friends and family, including her father.

03:19:16 - 03:19:26 | Speaker 1:

I just wonder why. Why my daughter? She wasn't looking for any of this. She never asked for any attention. She's trying to be a freshman in college.

03:19:27 - 03:19:30 | Speaker 3:

Instead, she's been tested like never before.

03:19:30 - 03:19:31 | Speaker 4:

That's a crazy story.

03:19:31 - 03:19:38 | Speaker 2:

affected me in such an awful way and has practically ruined my life.

03:19:38 - 03:19:49 | Speaker 5:

And also, how did that spread so fast? Like, it's one thing for a dumb rumor like that to go around the college campus, but that thing went national really quickly.

03:19:50 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Man, and you imagine that, and then you can't stop it at all, and nobody believes you. Nobody believes you. That's not true. And one last story, if you don't.

03:20:00 - 03:20:19 | Speaker 9:

Don't mind. Hooters is trying to redo their image. They're trying to make themselves family-friendly. Okay. And they're hoping that this will save the brand because they're all going out of business. And the original owners are going to take it over to make it family-friendly. But is that the right thing to do? Jessica Dupnack looks into that.

03:20:19 - 03:20:30 | Speaker 3:

Hooters is going from an R rating to PG-13. It's all part of a new rebranding strategy to make it more family-friendly. The company's CEO is calling it a re-hooterization.

03:20:30 - 03:20:31 | Speaker 9:

I like it.

03:20:31 - 03:20:31 | Speaker 5:

Is it a real game changer?

03:20:32 - 03:20:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was us. Hooters, known for their wings, cold beer, endless TVs, and, you know, a couple of other things. It's more than just a job and we're not waitresses. We actually get involved in our community. Those orange shorty shorts and plunging white tees have put the pop in pop culture since they opened in 1983.

03:20:53 - 03:20:54 | Unknown:

Hi, welcome hooters.

03:20:54 - 03:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Kind of a restaurant that attracts a certain demographic.

03:20:59 - 03:21:26 | Speaker 3:

Duh, and the demo has always been men. It worked until it didn't. The company now facing bankruptcy, but they're not totally deflated. The company's CEO drummed up a plan to push up sagging sales, which means this testosterone-rich environment is going to be getting a bit more family-friendly. The first thing to go, bikini days. That's where the Hooters girls would trade in their uniforms for even less. The topic sparking heated debate here on Fox 2.

03:21:27 - 03:21:35 | Speaker 8:

If you're going to do Hooters, okay, you should dive in more. More bikini nights. I like that, Ryan.

03:21:36 - 03:21:40 | Speaker 7:

If you're going to redo Hooters, do more bikini nights. Hotter women.

03:21:40 - 03:21:45 | Speaker 3:

It's a solid point, Ryan Armani. If it feels like a Denny's, will they lose their regulars?

03:21:46 - 03:21:52 | Speaker 1:

They feel special, I'm sure, when they go into the restaurant. They probably have a relationship with the weight stamp.

03:21:52 - 03:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Branding experts say it's difficult with a double D to now all of the sudden get moms and kids through the door. It's in the name Hooters. Do you have to change the name?

03:22:01 - 03:22:07 | Speaker 1:

I would strongly recommend that they would change their name. Particularly again, they're trying to become a family friendly restaurant.

03:22:07 - 03:22:10 | Speaker 3:

There is no way people are going to think of Hooters as a family restaurant.

03:22:11 - 03:22:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, it's just not going to work.

03:22:12 - 03:22:13 | Speaker 9:

What do you think? Should Hooters?

03:22:13 - 03:22:29 | Speaker 3:

The name is Hooters. This change is for the Hooters girls to greet women first to make them feel more comfortable. Let's hope for the employees at the 420 locations left that this rebranding isn't a huge bust. Reporting in Taylor, Jessica Dupnack, Fox 2 News.

03:22:29 - 03:23:20 | Speaker 9:

I love it, Jessica. We love you, Jessica. You know what? The wings are good. I know people don't think that they're good, but they were good. I used to love those wings from a Hooters. Those were one of my favorites. Is that why you went? That's why I went. I got so in trouble when Joey was a kid. This is way back when, so obviously Joey's not a kid anymore. And I remember him coming home and saying to Mom, Mom, Dad took me to Hooters. And that was probably all he needed to say, I swear to you. It's like, Tom, we're going to have a talk. Or Mojo. Yeah. Shout out Jessica Dubnick, man. She's a lyricist. She's great. She does great stories. All right, we'll be back tomorrow. Live on field. Yes. Opening day. Come Erica Park. Get ready. It's going to be cold. We'll see you tomorrow. Opening day. Bye-bye. 20-plus years of idiocy, and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:23:20 - 03:23:22 | Speaker 7:

It's Mojo in the morning.

03:23:23 - 03:23:50 | Speaker 4:
