This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:48 - 00:03:05 | Speaker 3:

this is mojo in the morning mojo and the rockets red glare this is like an orgasm in a pop showtime

00:03:18 - 00:03:48 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:48 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 6:

good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show i've been fighting this all week do i go to opening day or don't i and i'll be honest with you i think i'm gonna go to the party that kp is throwing and i'm not going to go to the game i just can't do it i know it sounds bad and i'd sound like uh not a true fan but i just can't find myself sitting there for another three hours after the uh the promotion especially if you have some drinks i feel like you tend to get a little

00:04:36 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 3:

you get really like hyper and then you get really oh my god you'll be the dude that's like asleep Open your seat, and everybody will be taking photos and videos of you.

00:04:46 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

And we're taking Luke on that spring break. Oh, that's right. And we're going golfing for the spring break. And the golf course that we are golfing at, we're going to golf like three days or whatever.

00:05:00 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

The two out of the three days, you have to walk. You cannot take a golf cart. I found out it's going to be miserable.

00:05:11 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

You'll get your steps in.

00:05:12 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, that. I know.

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

It's all your rings.

00:05:15 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

I've done. By the way, do you know how many steps you get in a round of golf? How many steps do you think that you get in a 18-hole golf game?

00:05:24 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. 15,000. 12,000.

00:05:27 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you guys are way off.

00:05:29 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 2:

26,000.

00:05:30 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 1:

Megan's the closest.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

Are you serious?

00:05:32 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you get over 25,000 steps. I mean, have you seen me play golf? I mean, I'm going to balls over here now, balls over there, balls over here, balls over there.

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

That's nuts, actually.

00:05:43 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that crazy? Yeah. So three days, two of the days you golf where you have to walk, because I guess that's how the professionals do it. Yeah. I'll tell you how the professionals do it. And then one day you get to do a golf cart. So I'm looking forward to the trip because I'm looking forward to being able to spend time with Luke, but I'm not looking forward to the amount of exercise that is going to be required in doing this trip. The other thing that I'm kind of going back and forth on, and I need your help with this one, because Luke has kind of gotten, you know, in my head a little bit. do guys who wear visors look like douchebags you are not wearing or megan give me that what is it there you go come on it's not bad that was good that today was good it's very good do guys that wear visors look like douchebags because we so we went to carl's golf land yesterday to kind of get last minute things like balls you know i want to make sure i had enough of those because i'm You're probably going to lose a ton of them. And then I was kind of going around going, oh, look at this. Look at that. You know, they have. If you've never been to this place, Carl's Golf Land for Grand Rapids and Toledo is golf's epic store. So they got a couple of them here in the area. The one in Bloomfield Hills is ridiculous. It's literally like paradise for anybody that's a golfer.

00:07:10 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 3:

It's like Costco for golfers.

00:07:12 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes. It's crazy.

00:07:13 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 3:

A little more expensive.

00:07:14 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 1:

And they have, you walk inside of this place, and it's just like every store, like Target is. They have all the little kind of, what are they called, tchotchkes or something like that, like all over the place. And so I'm kind of like walking out, and as I'm walking out, there's a rack of hats and visors. And I said to Luke, I go, I have never worn a visor before. But I figured it would probably be less, like, sweaty to have a visor instead of a hat.

00:07:45 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:07:45 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 1:

Because I like to wear trucker hats, which is now kind of cool. Like, golfers, you know, they're doing it on golf courses. They used to before. They were like, oh, that doesn't look fancy enough for a golfer. I'm like, go fancy this. Well, so I'm like, well, maybe I'll get a visor. So I bought a visor. And then last night, and I actually sent you guys a picture of this. last night i actually tried on my visor to see what it looked like and luke looked at me and said i'm sorry but dad you can't wear that visor because we're going with other friends of of you know uh luke's yeah so we're going golfing with the you know some buddies of his his buddy jack and jack's dad and stuff so i don't know hey you guys that will have to have to tell me if if if it's a visor or not, and do guys who wear visors, Luke says it looks like you didn't buy the whole hat. That's what it looks like when you're just wearing a visor.

00:08:40 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it's cute. There's one exception to the rule, though, you guys.

00:08:42 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

What's that?

00:08:44 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Guy Fieri.

00:08:45 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Guy. That's right. I forgot about that.

00:08:48 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

But he does wear visors all the time. I was going to say cute little old men wearing visors.

00:08:55 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Deal. What about guys? I said to Luke, I go, Luke, you know, you look on the tour and stuff like that. There's some guys that – he goes, nobody wears a visor on the tour.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

Girls wearing visors are it. That's it.

00:09:07 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Girls that wear visors are hot?

00:09:09 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Other than that, there's no – visors are never cool. Not even the gas station ones that have fake hair in them. Yeah. There's nothing cool about a visor at all.

00:09:18 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 1:

I sent you the picture right now, and Megan just texted back in the group chat, love the commitment to the pose. I was doing my golf pose there. and the, you know, look at that.

00:09:28 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Wow. I feel like sometimes I do mock you a little bit too much on the air. I was like, oh, I'm going to put it as a text. I love that you still read it. No, I'm going to still read it. You know what? I'm going to be nice. I don't think you look like a douchebag. It's not bad, huh? I actually like it. What does it say on it?

00:09:40 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Foot joy.

00:09:41 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:09:42 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:42 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

I thought it said baby. Me too, and that's why I was like, so I like it except for it says baby.

00:09:47 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:09:48 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Do you have an announcement?

00:09:49 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

No. No. Listen, I will say this, though, and I told this to Luke. Guys who wear backwards visors are definitely a big no with the sunglasses on top.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Douchebag.

00:10:00 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

douche bags right those are those are the ones so those so i um i don't know uh comments from listeners 844 mojo live uh text 95500 how about the how about guys who wear backwards visors like you ever see those those are usually guys that are drunk at the end of the night where they put it on and they put it on where they know the uh the the brim of the cap is or

00:10:22 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 1:

the brim of the visor is actually on the uh on the back what are the do you have one of those visors that has, like, the plasticky stuff on the front? Do you know what I'm talking about? Like, yours is all cloth.

00:10:33 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 4:

No, the plasticky stuff, that's, like, the one that the casino people wear or something like that. What are you talking about?

00:10:39 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

It's like a visor, but, like, you can see through the... Oh, no. Like, you know what I'm talking about, right?

00:10:47 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. No, that's, like, one that your old people wear.

00:10:52 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I was going to say, I know some people. Now I'm not going to shout them out because you just called them old people. Are they old people? Yeah, they're older people. That wear those? That have those ones, yeah.

00:11:02 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Those are, the visors, what she's talking about is there's the visors that are kind of almost like, it's like sunglasses on the top, right? And I've seen people wear those before. And they also wear those big, beefy sunglasses that they used to advertise on television. What are they called? Blue blockers or whatever they were? No, no, no.

00:11:23 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 6:

Leave those alone. Those are for smart people. It's not on headaches. You sleep better at night.

00:11:27 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 4:

Smart people actually wear those things?

00:11:29 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

Smart people wear blue light blockers.

00:11:31 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. No, no, no. Not blue light blockers because those are different. Those are the ones that anybody that is, you know, a Gen Z wears those.

00:11:43 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 6:

So you're calling me young. So, yes. Oh, my God. Thank you.

00:11:46 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

These are the blue blockers are the old people ones where they're just big old beefy glasses that basically cover almost their entire face so that their cataracts doesn't act out.

00:11:58 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 1:

You know what I think we need? I think we need an OOTD from you every single day you're on this little golf vacation. We need a little outfit of the day.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 6:

With a pose.

00:12:05 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 4:

With a pose. By the way, I will say this to you, because today I'm wearing Detroit's very own Grayson for the Tigers today, so I got that on right now. But I got a Grayson shirt, which is a golf brand. I'm usually pretty good golfing-wise. I've got a good golf game going as far as my clothes are concerned. My non-golf game, not so great. It's a little rough. It struggles. What's going on, David? How you doing? Good. How are you guys? We're doing all right, man. Visors or no visors? What are your thoughts?

00:12:39 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 5:

Man, whenever you get your golf game better, you can do it. I've seen guys wear their visors backwards and upside down at the same time. Upside?

00:12:46 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that's the rally visor. Yeah.

00:12:49 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 5:

The rally visor. Exactly. There you go. Exactly.

00:12:52 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

You got to put it on. You put that visor on.

00:12:54 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 5:

Whatever gets your handicap down.

00:12:56 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I like the visor part, too. I was telling Luke this because I got a great head of hair, and I always feel like you look at baseball players, they wear hats all the time, and then they're losing their hair.

00:13:06 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 1:

What is the purpose of the upside-down visor?

00:13:09 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 5:

I honestly don't know. It just kind of reminds me of somebody that would be named Brad and drunk at the end of the day. Just Brad's a lawyer.

00:13:17 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 3:

Or Chad.

00:13:17 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 5:

Or Tad. Or Tad.

00:13:19 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Any ad. Tad, Brad. You know what? I just realized maybe that's why I don't like visors is because I don't have hair. So I cannot rock. I can never pull off a visor. You do have good hair.

00:13:29 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:13:30 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

I don't get that. What's going on, Kathy? Your thoughts on visors?

00:13:36 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 2:

I mainly just wanted Shannon to know that if you wear a visor with sunglasses on it, with the plastic, you're just an old lady gardening.

00:13:44 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

Or at a casino.

00:13:46 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 2:

I love that. That is so true.

00:13:48 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 4:

that is perfect thank you kathy i appreciate it all right take care of yourself oh man uh i'm so happy by the way i looked over at kp kp's got a good tiger's hat on she went out and got it she had to go out and buy that right did you buy that

00:14:05 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 6:

yesterday no shout out to us what's that shout out to us on he got that for me oh that's so sweet

00:14:11 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 4:

i go on record again and i say this to you and she was wearing it in for our pre-show meeting girls with the old English D on their head are hot. It's amazing. You put on a tiger's hat. And I'm talking a legit tiger's hat. And she's got one and she's going to be down there at that party.

00:14:31 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 3:

Is that a compliment?

00:14:32 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 4:

It is. It's not a compliment I guess if you say that a 7 goes to a 10, but you are already a 10 KP.

00:14:40 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 6:

Thank you very much. What about an old English D face tattoo? uh maybe not why have you seen that at all no i was just thinking about it you said anybody who has it on their head i was like well that's a permanent upgrade i mean honestly you got a d

00:14:56 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 4:

on your cheek you know what i mean i don't know if that's a good idea i don't know and now

00:15:00 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 9:

I'm not against face tattoos. I like face tattoos. I think they're great. I do like, you know, it's funny. If I was going to get a tattoo of any of our local sports teams, the old English D would be the tattoo. Oh, for sure. It will withstand the test of time where I feel like the other teams may not. I don't know. Maybe the wing wheel for the Red Wings. I don't know.

00:15:23 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 8:

I'd get a Lions one, like an old school Lions tattoo.

00:15:26 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 9:

I mean, that'd be kind of cool. Yeah.

00:15:27 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 8:

Like a smaller one. Like a full back tattoo maybe Or a tramp stamp But you agree though

00:15:33 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 9:

A girl wearing a tiger's hat Looks hot

00:15:37 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 8:

Yes 110%

00:15:38 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 9:

Yeah there's something about it I don't know Somebody just actually gave a text That just came in here and said Be careful Oh she called her Hey what's going on Lisa

00:15:48 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 4:

Don't do it Mojo Oh my god My bio teacher wore a visor And came back so sunburned Strange It was the weirdest thing And I never forgot it.

00:16:00 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 9:

What does the sunburn look like that you get from a visor?

00:16:04 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 4:

It's like a red beer type of hat type of thing, but it's all red at the top and red on the ears, red on the nose.

00:16:13 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 8:

Like a red yarmulke.

00:16:16 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 4:

Hey, that's perfect for Passover, right? we laughed for like a week because oh my gosh he did he came back so burnt oh man yeah see i never

00:16:30 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 9:

really thought about that but you're right lisa thank you for calling lisa or thank you for letting us call you because i know you'd send in a really good text what's up sarah hi um i have

00:16:39 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 5:

the perfect visor for you yeah you remember you remember those like 80s uh like bright purple neon Sunpink visors that are plastic. You could use puffy paint and write your name on them. Yeah, see?

00:16:54 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 9:

I think they're back, right? They've got to be back.

00:16:57 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 5:

They have to be. Everything else 80s and 90s is.

00:17:00 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 9:

I forgot. You know, when Shannon was talking initially about that visor, I think maybe a little bit of that, right?

00:17:05 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:17:06 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. And by the way, puffy paint was the greatest. How many people?

00:17:09 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 3:

I loved puffy paint. I puffy painted everything. That and shrink-a-dinks. We're like, oh, my God. The most joy I ever experienced in childhood.

00:17:21 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 9:

Thanks, Sarah. Have a great day.

00:17:23 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 5:

You guys, too.

00:17:25 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 7:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:33 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 9:

For Adam Sandler tickets, you remember the actress Brittany Murphy. She passed away in this year, and she was, of course, one of the stars of the movie 8 Mile with Eminem.

00:17:42 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 1:

I hear you're a real dope rapper.

00:17:44 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 6:

A dope rapper?

00:17:45 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:17:46 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 6:

Who told you I was a dope rapper?

00:17:48 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's around. It's like, dope, what you doing working over at Dead End Santa?

00:17:54 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 6:

Your brother works there.

00:17:55 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my brother's a loser.

00:17:57 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 9:

Tom Brady and Giselle Boonshin got married in this year.

00:18:01 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 2:

I went on a blind date, but I met my husband. When I saw those kind eyes, I literally fell in love right away. I was like, what?

00:18:09 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 9:

And the big song from Katy Perry, Hot and Cold. What year was this?

00:18:19 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 7:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-Live. 844-665-6548. You and your new man are so happy. Which is why he's DMing his ex-girlfriend behind your back. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning. Back in the day. What year was this?

00:18:42 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 9:

Actress Brittany Murphy, the star of the movie 8 Mile with Eminem, died in this year.

00:18:47 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 1:

I hear you're a real dope rapper.

00:18:49 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 9:

A dope rapper?

00:18:50 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:18:51 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 6:

Who told you I was a dope rapper?

00:18:53 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 1:

You know, it's around. You say dope, what you doing working over at Dead End Sandman?

00:18:58 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 6:

Your brother works there.

00:19:00 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my brother's a loser.

00:19:02 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 9:

That's tragic. Giselle and Tom Brady got married in this year. Actually got, yeah, got married in this year.

00:19:09 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 2:

I went on a blind date. Yes. And I met my husband. When I saw those kind eyes, I literally fell in love right away. I was like, what?

00:19:17 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 9:

Get that cutie over there. Shannon, by the way, this morning we'll have the rumored actress that Tom Brady might be with. She'll talk about that.

00:19:26 - 00:19:29 | Speaker 5:

And let me get the last clue here.

00:19:29 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 9:

Hot and cold from Katie. What year was that, Amanda?

00:19:34 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 2:

2009, Mojo.

00:19:35 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 9:

It was. Congratulations.

00:19:37 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. Oh, my God.

00:19:40 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 9:

Do it. Do it. Hey, Megan. Hi. Good morning. Congratulations.

00:20:35 - 00:20:42 | Speaker 1:

You sound like you're eating ribs when you do that. Yeah. And you're licking your fingers. For me, eating ribs is like chef kisses. To be fair,

00:20:42 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 2:

you're right.

00:20:45 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 1:

So Chad said that Adam Sandler was unbelievable. Brings out special guests. It's awesome. And he said, it's comedy without it's like upbeat, happy comedy and not comedy of making fun of people. So he said it was really good. So very cool. So have a great time, okay?

00:21:03 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Have a great day, guys.

00:21:05 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:21:21 - 00:21:23 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending right now.

00:21:23 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 3:

Big story this morning, Nike has upset some feminists after making trans social media star Dylan Mulvaney one of the new faces of its women's clothing line. Dylan posted some videos and some photos on her Instagram page modeling a pair of Nike leggings and this little sports bra and tagged Nike women in the post. Had a link to all of the products on there. It's very clearly a paid sponsorship, okay? Well, everybody had thoughts and opinions and hopped on Twitter to share those thoughts and opinions. As you can imagine, people were not nice about this. And this comes after Bud Light sparked some pretty harsh backlash for partnering with Dylan for a March Madness promotion a couple of weeks ago.

00:22:06 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 1:

Is that the one where Kid Rock was getting crazy? Yeah, with the gun. By the way, Dylan getting a lot of endorsement deals.

00:22:17 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 4:

Yes, big ones. She has a huge social media following.

00:22:20 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is?

00:22:21 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:22:22 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:22:23 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

Like over 10 million followers, of course. Yeah. People want their products in the faces of consumers. And obviously, like you said, she has a big following.

00:22:30 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys feel like, though, that these companies, are they pandering? Yes.

00:22:36 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, great question. I love when this gets brought up. Because the answer is yes. But if they're going to do it, I'm glad they are supporting people from diverse backgrounds. Because who's benefiting from this? People who need awareness to whatever cause or group that they're advocating for.

00:22:52 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Olivia Wilde has requested in court that Jason Sudeikis pony up. She wants her ex to start paying child support for their two kids, claiming she takes on a bigger share of the expenses for them, even though he earns significantly more than she does. Olivia claims to have more than $107,000 in monthly expenses, which includes about $60,000 for her mortgage, and get this, $4,000 for laundry and cleaning? What in the heck are you getting dry cleaned? That's costing you $4,000. I don't know, but while she and Jason have been splitting certain expenses, like school tuition, she said she's the one bearing 100% of the costs of the children's care when it comes to food and clothes, child care, extracurricular activities, transportation costs. That's according to court documents. A source close to Jason said, uh-uh, he shares costs equally and fairly for everything related to the kids. Olivia also wants Jason to cover her legal bills to the tune of no less than half a million dollars. Lyrics for two songs from The Little Mermaid have been updated or have updated lyrics for the upcoming live action remake to emphasize consent and female empowerment. And as you can imagine, people have thoughts on this. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Disney composer Alan Menken was asked if any changes needed to be made to the music from the 1989 animated original. Can you believe Little Mermaids from 1989, first of all? But he said there were some lyric changes to the song Kiss the Girl. And you don't know why, but you're dying to try, you wanna kiss again. He said they made the changes because people have gotten very sensitive about the idea that Prince Eric would force himself in any way on Ariel. So they're changing this one. They didn't say what specifically they're changing. And then the other song that's going to sound different to you is Ursula singing Poor Unfortunate Souls. The men out there don't like a lot of blabber. They think a girl who gossips is a boy.

00:25:00 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 2:

This one has some lines in it that might make young girls somehow feel like they shouldn't speak out of tomorrow. Even though Ursula is clearly manipulating Ariel to give up her voice, so they're changing this one, too. So they'll sound different to you. And this story is going viral this morning. Scott Schuster is a regular old guy who lives in Houston, Texas, and he says people keep knocking on his door at all hours of the day and night claiming he stole their lost iPhones because of what he says is a mistake on the Find My iPhone app. This is just a little sampling of what he sees via his ring doorbell camera all day long.

00:25:42 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 4:

It is saying that this phone is at your house. I lost my cell phone and I clicked find my phone and it said it was at this address. My brother's phone is lost and the last ping location was right here. Hi, maybe you found a phone and it's pulling up this address.

00:25:57 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow. The cops are on their way over here, so you may want to come talk to me. So, he's called Apple numerous times, but cannot get an explanation for why the Find My iPhone app brings people to his house. But he said he's kind of getting worried about his safety here.

00:26:12 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 4:

It's just really bizarre. I have never been threatened yet. Yet's the part that scares me. What are you worried about? That someone who's irrational shows up with a weapon, wanting their device back, thinking I've stolen it or have it.

00:26:24 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 2:

Right. And he is a software engineer. And he said he has some theories maybe about why this is happening.

00:26:29 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 4:

My home used to be a model home for this neighborhood. So somewhere in some database, that address lives for this neighborhood. And I feel like if it pings in my neighborhood and I can't tie it to a specific address, it falls back to my address.

00:26:43 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 6:

Interesting. That would be so scary, wouldn't it? And annoying. Yeah, like people just randomly come into your house.

00:26:50 - 00:27:00 | Speaker 2:

If I was his neighbor, I'd start stealing iPhones. There's an excuse there. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

ground so meet us down there get your parking early because i heard it kind of fills up

00:28:03 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 6:

mike made a really bad first impression always every single time by doing something that And honestly, I didn't even know that this works, but explain what you did.

00:28:14 - 00:28:36 | Speaker 5:

So I am constantly chewing gum because I'm worried about my breath. And I'm worried not that it smells bad, but that other people won't tell me if it smells bad. So my wife taught me this trick, and I don't think it's uncommon, but where you lick your wrist or your hand, and then you let it sit for a second, and then that's what your breath actually smells like. Really?

00:28:36 - 00:28:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I've heard that before.

00:28:37 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 6:

And I know your wife works in a dental office, so she would know this, but I honestly wouldn't think that that would work. That is something that works?

00:28:47 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. I mean, at first, like, you'll smell your soap, but if you just let it sit for a second and just give it a whiff, like, that's the, because it's right off of your tongue. All doing it.

00:28:58 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 6:

How are you smelling right now? How does it smell?

00:29:00 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 5:

It smells a little bit like cold brew right this second, but it's not bad. It's not heated. Okay. So you did this right before you were about to meet somebody? Yeah. So I was at – Key of Grand Rapids North has new GMs, like new people that have come in or whatever. So I went up to meet them or whatever, and I have no idea who they are. I've never seen these guys before in my life. I just know their names. They're John Comstock and J-Dub. And so I was in the bathroom, and I realized I didn't have gum, so I did that where I licked my head, and I started to, like, do the smell thing. And this guy walks out of the bathroom stall and sees me mid, like, lick. And then, like, I was also going in for the smell. And he goes, everything good? And I go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, everything's good. And I wash my hands and I walk out. I'm like, oh, that was embarrassing. Turns out he was the GM of Kia. Who was it? Which guy was it? John Comstock. Oh, my God. He sounds like a cowboy, but he. He should be on Yellowstone, shouldn't he? Yeah, he, I thought he was. That's why.

00:30:00 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 2:

They told me his name. That's what I envisioned is like this cowboy who's going to walk out and just pew, pew, pew with a big old cowboy hat. He's taking on the Dutton family. Those are some scary guns, by the way. Watch out for John Comstock. Mm-hmm. That is actually a great one, too. Did you tell him that right away? Because I think that would actually be funny. I don't know if that's something you tell your client on the first time.

00:30:19 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 3:

We couldn't tell him because he was too busy licking his wrist.

00:30:22 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 2:

Does this work, by the way? Do people actually do that, and does it work? and what was the bad first impression that you've made on somebody when you first meet them?

00:30:30 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 3:

I always do the, like, blowing my breath into my hand, and it's like, ah, ah, ah.

00:30:34 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:30:34 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:30:35 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's funny, Mike. I've never, ever smelled bad breath on you. Like, there are people that you, like, look at, and they just look like they've got bad breath smell.

00:30:47 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:30:48 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 2:

And then there are those.

00:30:51 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 3:

No, you're right. If they have the white spittle in the corners of their mouth, they have bad breath. I had a teacher that had the spittle. That's the only word I can use for it. And I just knew that she had bad breath. My mouth is sweating.

00:31:07 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to be told that you have bad breath or that the spittles are there? Do you ever look at somebody with the spittles and you go like this?

00:31:15 - 00:31:16 | Speaker 3:

I just want to give you a drink of water.

00:31:16 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, that could be also they're parched. They might need a little bit. it's funny that Mike talks about this and making bad first impressions because one of my bad first impressions happened to me the other day I for some reason after I turned 50 years old I don't know if people have ever had this happen to them I randomly fart when I walk sometimes

00:31:38 - 00:31:41 | Speaker 1:

uncontrollably

00:31:41 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 2:

it's like I take every step I take and a random fart comes out when that happens And we were out in the hallway and, um, I can't remember which sales rep it was that had a new client, some new, uh, legal clients, like an attorney clients that were here and I'm walking to go to the bathroom. And when I have to go to the bathroom and pee, the farts also are intense. So as I'm walking, as I'm walking by, it's like, Hey, how you doing? And I hope that they thought it was like my shoe at that particular time.

00:32:19 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 1:

I'm never standing behind you or walking behind you again.

00:32:22 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's heard it before. You've heard me get up and go. Oh, my God.

00:32:25 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 3:

It's great. It's just a treat.

00:32:28 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I don't know if it's something that happened. Somebody told me when you turn 50, you have to pee every five minutes. That is true. I never leave places without going to pee. And the farting thing, nobody told me about. Nobody told me about the random fart that will come out from time to time.

00:32:46 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 3:

Every day, I feel worse and worse for Chelsea.

00:32:50 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 2:

Listen, worse for Chelsea. How about worse for you? You guys have to deal with it, too. It's not a pleasant thing to have happen. Do you try to play it off like you didn't just fart? I actually one time did the whole shoe thing where I said, oh, man, these damn shoes. You ever have that? No, I do have squeaky shoes.

00:33:08 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 1:

I do. I do.

00:33:09 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 2:

You get a fart shoe that comes in. Yeah.

00:33:12 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Let's not forget the time the guy went to fist bump me and I talked into his fist. Oh, my God.

00:33:17 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 3:

That's the best first impression. Yeah.

00:33:20 - 00:33:23 | Speaker 2:

00:39:20 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 2:

It falls out of everywhere. Any open area is going to fall out. Be careful. This is Mojo in the Morning live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Another opportunity to go to Disney. We've got a Disney World vacation that we're giving away so that you can ride that new Tron ride that's happening in less than 30 minutes. War of the Roses, if you think that you're being cheated on, let's bust that cheater. Text cheater to 95500. And then give us a little details, too, about why you think he's or she's cheating on you. So text cheater to 95500, standard text and data rates, do apply.

00:39:58 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters, I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry.

00:40:01 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 2:

It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:40:05 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 3:

So, Alexis, you think your boyfriend cheated while he was on spring break?

00:40:10 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, everyone, yeah, it just seems like everyone on that trip is like being weird to me.

00:40:20 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 3:

Now, you didn't spring break with him, and also explain this. So, he goes to school, and you don't go with him, but who did he go on spring break with?

00:40:30 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he went with his fraternity brothers.

00:40:33 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:40:34 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 2:

So, like, yeah, you would expect, like, a lot of, like, pictures and stuff, but, like, he wasn't in any of them.

00:40:43 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 1:

So you had to have asked him about that, and what was his response?

00:40:50 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 2:

He just said he was, like, taking the photos and that he wanted to, like, live in the moment, which I don't, that's not really him. And he's usually like the life of the party, so I don't really get that.

00:41:01 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 1:

And if you're the one taking the photos, you're still not living in the moment because you're taking the photos.

00:41:06 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 2:

You're getting it. And they're like intimate.

00:41:10 - 00:41:31 | Speaker 3:

What you should do is you should say, hey, let me look at your phone because I want to see if you're the one taking those photos. But that's something that we'll have to explore after we make a phone call to him. Talk about the friends acting differently with you. that you feel like they're acting differently because they know something that he did?

00:41:33 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, it just seems weird. You know what I mean? Like, it seems like they're covering up for him, and I don't get it.

00:41:40 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 3:

All right, hang on the phone for one second. We're going to make a phone call. We're calling up Mark. We're going to see where he will send a dozen free roses. We want them to go to Alexis. It's the War of the Roses. Just mute your phone so he doesn't hear that there's something else on the phone, okay?

00:41:57 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Hello?

00:42:13 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Hi, is this Mark?

00:42:16 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, who's this?

00:42:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mark. My name's Nicole and I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm actually calling for an offer for some free flowers. Not going to ask you for any credit card or financial information or anything like that. But if you answer two survey questions for me, we're going to give you a dozen long stemmed red roses that you can send out today. Absolutely for free. It's two questions. Okay. I don't get it. Okay. So I'm going to ask you to two survey questions if you answer those questions you can send this free dozen roses to the person of your choice anywhere in the country they can go out today and basically we're just doing it as a promo we're a new company and we're hoping that if you send flowers in the future you'll use us does that make sense oh yeah so i'm not going to ask you for a credit card i'm not i'm not going to ask you for any of that information okay all right okay mark have you purchased flowers in the last six months? No. Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:43:21 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 2:

No, unless it's going to be these three ones. Okay. And as I thank you for participating in

00:43:27 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 1:

that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with a dozen long-stemmed red roses. So I need to get some info from you to get these going out today, starting with the first and the last name of who you want them sent to.

00:43:39 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 2:

all right uh hailey okay

00:43:46 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

and i'm actually gonna start a little file for you just so hopefully we'll make it easier when you order from us in the future what is hailey's relationship to you why do you need that um because like i said we're gonna start a file for you so it'll just make the process of checking out a little bit faster the next time that you order flowers from us the information doesn't go anywhere

00:44:09 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 2:

except on your account okay all right can we do it without that i'm sorry can we do it without

00:44:18 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

making a file in case i want to send them to somebody else sure sure you can always send them to somebody else just so you know okay okay um with these ones we also offer something kind of different from other floral companies we offer a digital voice card where you can leave your own message that's going to get played to haley when the flowers get delivered did you want to do that

00:44:39 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess

00:44:41 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm going to count you down And then you just leave something short and sweet Three Two, one

00:44:49 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 2:

For your baby

00:44:53 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that's all you wanted to say?

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 2:

You can make it longer than that if you want, you know.

00:45:02 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 3:

That's fine.

00:45:03 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And, Mark, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:45:11 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 3:

I guess.

00:45:12 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:45:13 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 1:

Mark, I got to jump on and just grab the phone number from you. So I'm going to get that from you. Is that okay?

00:45:21 - 00:45:23 | Unknown:

All right. Who are you?

00:45:24 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 1:

We work for the same company from rosesbloom.com. So I'm just going to grab the phone number of Haley, and then we will send her the message, okay?

00:45:35 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:45:36 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 1:

Do you have the phone number handy?

00:45:39 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I can get it.

00:45:41 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 1:

Can you look for it right now, and then we'll do that?

00:45:46 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:45:48 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 1:

Let me know when you have it.

00:45:52 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I got it.

00:45:54 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay, what is it? four four one nine all right okay okay perfect uh mark i also need to let you know uh one more quick thing before i let you go that while uh we have been talking to you and you've been sending these flowers off that your girlfriend alexis has been listening into this phone call and heard every word that you just said.

00:46:28 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 2:

How?

00:46:31 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 1:

How is she?

00:46:35 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, how is she listening to, like, what are you talking about?

00:46:40 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 1:

Alexis is on the phone with us right now. This is the Mojo in the morning show. And we were doing the War of the Roses. And she just heard you send flowers to someone other than her.

00:46:52 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 4:

Who the f*** is she? Like, who is she?

00:46:57 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. So you guys, like, just trapped me in a phone call or some s***?

00:47:03 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that doesn't matter.

00:47:04 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 2:

Like, how the f*** is this okay?

00:47:07 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 4:

How the f*** is this s***?

00:47:13 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 3:

He hung up.

00:47:15 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 1:

He hung up. And you don't know who this is, who Haley is?

00:47:21 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 3:

No, I have no idea who that is. Like, but I was right, clearly. Like, he clearly cheated on me.

00:47:27 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 1:

We have her phone number, and we can try to call it right now, okay?

00:47:34 - 00:47:35 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:47:35 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

And see if we can get him back on the phone with us.

00:47:39 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

00:47:41 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 3:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:43 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:50 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 1:

Alexis is on the phone with us right now. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And we were doing the War of the Roses. Okay. And she just heard you send flowers to someone other than her.

00:48:02 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 4:

Who the f*** is she? Like, who is she?

00:48:07 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. So you guys, like, just trapped me in a phone call or some s***?

00:48:13 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that doesn't matter.

00:48:14 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 2:

Like, how the f*** is this okay? How the f*** is this?

00:48:22 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 1:

Alexis, hold on. We're trying to get a hold of Mark, but we're going to try to get Haley on the phone, okay?

00:48:34 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay. your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system

00:48:55 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 1:

two all right does that mean that she bumped us yeah

00:49:02 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

00:49:03 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

So he's probably

00:49:06 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 2:

What does that mean? I think she's bumping us

00:49:10 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

She bumped us He quite possibly could have I want you to do us a favor I want you to hang on here for one second We're going to try to get him back

00:49:22 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 4:

Okay

00:49:24 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 1:

Keep trying him, please 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 throw this out there to to you if you ever caught a cheater was the person caught similar to this one where all the people around him started acting differently towards you i'd love to know if that was something that uh has ever happened to you because i wonder how that would be like if you knew that your friends cheating on their significant other, how would you act around that person? How would you be able to be around them? That seems like that would be...

00:50:10 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 2:

Such a dead giveaway.

00:50:11 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, total. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 844-665-6548, 844-MOJO-LIVE is the telephone number. uh running into uh a uh a little bit of a snag getting uh getting him on now uh lexus's phone just goes right uh or not alexis uh um haley or whatever her name was her phone is now going right to voicemail so i don't know she just completely shut it off um and would he have enough time to be able to call her and tell her that that's the that's the thing text and say don't enter your phone yeah that's the thing i always wonder about sometimes whenever we do the war of the roses is trying to be able to and that's why we started doing the whole thing where it's like we ask for the phone numbers and do all that stuff we almost need to have somebody calling them right like while we're doing it somebody else goes in the to the other room on the phone system and calls them and then we get that other person on the phone and then confront them yeah

00:51:22 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 3:

we gotta try that uh annette so that actually happened to me um i was married and i you know i was working and one of the girls that worked with me was cheating with my husband and every day that i would go to work everybody would look at me you know like real stupid they would laugh at me because they knew that she knew that i was married and she was cheating with my husband

00:51:48 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 2:

How did she treat you? How did she act around you?

00:51:52 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 3:

She would just kind of look at me like snide looking. And it was ironic because the days that my husband supposedly went to work, she didn't come to work. Oh, my God. And, yeah, and when it all came out, it was real ugly because somebody got violent.

00:52:14 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, when you say somebody.

00:52:16 - 00:52:20 | Speaker 2:

Wait, now we need the story. Who's somebody? What's the story? somebody was me

00:52:20 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 1:

somebody threw hands

00:52:23 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 4:

but why did nobody tell you

00:52:27 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 3:

I guess because I was kind of like the new person there and she had been there for a while and I was older than her so you know how like younger people are they think it's kind of oh yeah she cheating on her husband so they think it's cute but when I attacked her If they didn't think you were cute after that

00:52:49 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

00:52:49 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 1:

F around and find out F around and find out I need to be friends with you Annette Is there any way we can become best friends Hey Annette call us more often Okay All the time I get y'all all the time Alright we love you

00:53:10 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm alias Kim

00:53:11 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god wait a second Wait a second you actually call with an alias number Or an alias name?

00:53:17 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 3:

I'm alias Kim. Oh, my gosh.

00:53:21 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm alias Kim. That's amazing. Well, now you've got to pick another name. Yeah, now you just gave it away. But you called more often then. Love you. That's great. Alias Kim. Michelle, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:53:34 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 4:

Yes, my husband was cheating. Everybody he worked with, because we were married for a long time, wouldn't even look me in the face, because he didn't hide it from him at all.

00:53:42 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Wow. And was that how you knew, or was there something else that tipped you off?

00:53:48 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 4:

That's what got me thinking that way. He was a firefighter, so, I mean, they're very close-knit people.

00:53:57 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 1:

And you were around them a lot?

00:54:01 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yes.

00:54:03 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, wow.

00:54:04 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 4:

And when they stopped, they wouldn't make eye contact or anything with me. I kind of knew something was right.

00:54:10 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it makes me wonder, and I hate that my mind wanders in this direction, but if they all knew, and your husband was just doing it right out in the open, if some of the other ones were doing the same thing, and it was just a pact among them that we weren't, you know, you don't tell if I don't tell. Good point.

00:54:28 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's a lot of them that aren't with the same wife they started with at the department. Yeah, yeah.

00:54:34 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 1:

Man, thank you.

00:54:35 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that does happen a lot.

00:54:36 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Cassie. hi hey what's going on good morning i got an update by the way i got to tell you guys in a second i've been like getting notes handed to me and stuff you guys are going to crap yourself

00:54:48 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

in a second here about this what's going on um i was just trying to say i don't care if you're my friend and you're cheating on your spouse significant other we could have been best friends

00:55:00 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling your spouse, like, there's no reason for anyone to keep that secret. Have you ever been in that situation? Thankfully, no. But cheating is a big as no there is. So I will tell them, like I promise.

00:55:16 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so to you, there is no friendship that is strong enough for you not to go to that person's spouse and say, my friend is cheating on you.

00:55:28 - 00:55:28 | Unknown:

Absolutely.

00:55:29 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. You know what? Your conscience will always be clear.

00:55:34 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely. Like, cheating. If you're going to change it, break up with the person.

00:55:39 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Want to hear the update, by the way?

00:55:43 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:55:43 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 1:

You ready for this one? The note that was handed to me just a second ago is Mark will not go on the air with us and feels like he's been violated and said that our bosses will find out later how upset he is. And he says, if you listen back to the message that he left, his message was to tell a friend that he was congratulating them for a baby that they actually had. Oh, now, come on. That's what he says. So his message to this girl, what was the name of the girl again? Why did I? Haley. Haley. So the message to Haley was, hold on, this is because we asked them to leave their voice message.

00:56:33 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 3:

For your baby. Oh.

00:56:37 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 1:

That's what he was saying.

00:56:38 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

00:56:39 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 1:

So he said, for your baby.

00:56:42 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

00:56:44 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 1:

I thought he was saying. For you, baby. Yeah, for your baby. I don't know. So he says that that was what he said. Or was that a miss speaking on his part? Can I hear it again?

00:57:03 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 3:

For your baby.

00:57:05 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 2:

He says your.

00:57:07 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I agree.

00:57:08 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 2:

He says your. Come on.

00:57:11 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 1:

So he says it's a complete mischaracterization that is going on here right now. They wrote a bunch of stuff down here for me. but Alexis is also on hold and doesn't believe it, and we're going to get her back on the phone with us right now. Thoughts on that? 844-MOJO-LIVE. Ben wants to tell us. Ben, you there? Yeah. Hey. Hey, guys. Were you the cheater? Hey, no. No, okay. I thought you said you got caught cheating on my call screen board here. No, what's the story?

00:57:45 - 00:58:14 | Speaker 3:

So to add on to what the other caller was saying, And they were talking about how if their friend got cheated on, they would tell him and such. So I was in a relationship for two years, and my ex and her cousin were, like, really close. Like, they were basically siblings. And he ended up telling me that she was cheating on me for, like, three months. And he ended up, like, took him so long to tell me because it's, like, his sister, basically.

00:58:14 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So that kind of proves that there are people out there that will break that friendship or family bond and tell another person if they are being cheated on. Oh, yeah, for sure. You know what? I guess there are some good people in this world. What's going on, Chris? How you doing?

00:58:33 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I just wanted to say that he didn't want to specify their relationship status, you know, and so I thought that was weird.

00:58:41 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:58:41 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 5:

He was very strange about that.

00:58:42 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 1:

And then what did he say? He said he didn't want to actually keep that person's name in his profile because he wanted to be able to send flowers to somebody else, too.

00:58:49 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 4:

Right, right. Yeah, if it was for a baby, he could have just said, like, oh, that's my good friend. I just had a baby, but he didn't want to say that.

00:58:56 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 2:

All right, so play devil's advocate here. If a random company is calling you out, are you really going to give all of that information, or are you just going to say, I'm not telling you?

00:59:04 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Chris, what would you do?

00:59:06 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 4:

I would probably, if I didn't have anything to hide, you know, I would say what I need to say.

00:59:11 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Lindy, what's going on? Mojo in the morning.

00:59:13 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 5:

hi this is lindy i was just calling to say how many men actually send a woman flowers for having a baby right especially at this age yeah i mean very thoughtful if he really was but it's thoughtful but most i don't believe it yeah no way i i gotta be honest with

00:59:32 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 1:

you a texter just said something interesting he misspoke and knew he did but knew it was being recorded and didn't want to re-record it that's what uh a texter said this guy's a cheater he

00:59:43 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 5:

was trying to say for you baby I think so too and he was just asking too many questions he was suspicious the whole time of the question yeah how he was responding so how about even deeper

00:59:54 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

than that Desiree what do you think I think maybe he was speaking in disguise

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 2:

Guys, and what if this was his baby?

01:00:03 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 5:

Whoa.

01:00:04 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 1:

Plot twist. Yeah. There's a couple people saying that.

01:00:07 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 2:

And, by the way— I just feel like it's unusual for a guy with a woman to send flowers to a co-worker who had a new baby.

01:00:15 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 1:

Right, right. And people are also texting, if he's so innocent, he wouldn't have made such a big deal about feeling violated or be mad enough to hang up the phone. Yeah.

01:00:24 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 3:

And remember, I mean, not to say that you're a college student, you're not, you know, intelligent, but this is a, these are college, you know, people here. So we're talking about there. This is a guy who went away on spring break with his fraternity brothers. And, you know, so it's a, who knows, you know, what the story is. Would my son who's in college, would he send flowers to somebody for a baby? No. I mean, that's the last thing in the world. He'd be thinking about, you know, beer. You know what I mean? I don't know.

01:00:58 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 5:

I feel like Jacob Wood.

01:01:00 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Weed. He'd send weed to them. You're right. Is there a way I can send edibles to you?

01:01:06 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 2:

Your home for the world-famous War of the Roses is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:01:13 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 3:

Big shout-out, by the way, to our friends over at Zot Ford for the cash cards they've been giving us for the prize that we're doing, the Disney trip. Steve Gabara, so thank you to Steve for that, and go check them out. They're in Holly, just off of 75. What do you got in this hour's Dirty

01:01:30 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 1:

on the 30? Well, obviously you all heard the rumor that Reese Witherspoon and Tom Brady are dating

01:01:36 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 3:

now. We talked about that in the 5 at 6.55. That would be a power couple, wouldn't it? No, no.

01:01:43 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, and no, because it's not true, but it spread like wildfire yesterday. To the point that both Tom and Reese's reps had to issue an official statement, which they issued to People Magazine, clearing the air and saying, no, they're not dating. In fact, the reps say they've never even met each other.

01:02:02 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 3:

I'm jealous, by the way, because I love Tom Brady so much. I want to see him and Giselle back together again. I want happiness in that family again. I don't want to see him dating anybody.

01:02:14 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 5:

Maybe when this lawsuit is over, they'll magically get back together. You're still hanging on to that theory, aren't you? I swear to God.

01:02:20 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, how about the fact that the other celebrities are involved in this thing, and they have great ways of not trying to get involved in the lawsuit, like Shaq when he went into hiding, you know?

01:02:30 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 5:

Well, he had surgery, remember, right? Or did they just hide all their money in an offshore bank account?

01:02:36 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

And what Megan's talking about is that crypto company that, what is it, FT? FTX. Yeah. They were all involved in that.

01:02:43 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 5:

And if you look at all the celebrities and where they've been traveling to, It's interesting their bank laws there. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.

01:02:50 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 1:

Actor Dear Me Renner wrote down some final words for his family after his tragic snowplow accident, believing he might actually die from the injuries that he had. Remember, he was crushed by a snowplow back on New Year's Day trying to save his nephew, and he spoke about the terrifying experience in an exclusive interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, which is airing in full today.

01:03:11 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 4:

So I'm writing down notes on my phone, the last words to my family.

01:03:15 - 01:03:22 | Unknown:

I'm sorry.

01:03:23 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that awful? And he said, you know, there was an immense relief that came with knowing that at least one of his family members was by his side immediately after the accident.

01:03:34 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 4:

If I was there on my own, that would have been a horrible way to die. And surely I would have. Surely. But I wasn't alone. It was my nephew, sweet Alex, and the rest of the Calvary came.

01:03:53 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and he is well on his road to recovery. Britney Spears, his longtime friend and manager, apparently staged a career intervention during their recent Mexico getaway, hoping to convince her to begin making new music now that her conservatorship is over. This is that Cade Hudson guy that she's been hanging out with. And apparently he's determined to see Britney get back to doing what she loves to do He knows she's still very passionate about her music And he wants that to be a part of her healing process Of helping her to get back to her old self He told her that she cannot throw in the towel He's kind of reminded her of who she really is, you know, at her core She hasn't released a new album since Glory way back in 2016 Could you imagine if we got new music again from Britney Spears? Like an entire album of new music from Britney Spears.

01:04:44 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I would be sad if she did put new music out because the last stuff she put out was so bad.

01:04:49 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, but that Elton John single that she did, I thought was really good. Hold Me Closer.

01:04:53 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. She didn't really have to do a lot in it, I guess, right? Maybe that's what she needs. Like, just do like a verse or...

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 2:

to and auto-tune the crap out of her? I mean, he's pushing her to record an album.

01:05:03 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 4:

I love how you're saying auto-tune the crap out of her. That hasn't been the case since 1996.

01:05:09 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

No, that is true.

01:05:10 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 4:

It would be cool this year.

01:05:11 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

But I don't think making anything new is necessary. It's like Madonna making new stuff right now. Right, right. I don't know.

01:05:18 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 3:

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. filing paperwork with the Federal Election Commission yesterday to officially launch his 2024 presidential campaign. He's going to be running as a Democrat. will challenge President Biden next year, joining that self-help guru, Marianne Williamson, as the only other declared major candidate in the party in the race for the White House. RFK Jr., yes, is the son of Robert F. Kennedy, a 1968 presidential candidate, by the way. He's also the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy.

01:05:44 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 2:

And isn't he also dating the Curb Your Enthusiasm Cheryl Hines?

01:05:49 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, are they married? Are they married? That's right. I totally forgot about that. Yeah. Are they still married?

01:05:54 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 2:

I think they might be. I don't know.

01:05:56 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 3:

A guy was arrested after he allegedly pretended to be a police officer to sneak into Megan Thee Stallion's show on Friday at Houston's Final Four Fan Fest concert. Trayvon Daris Stevenson charged with a felony for impersonating a public servant. You can't do that. He was wearing a police canine vest and he claimed to be working security as a police officer to get in, to get in for free. Megan was headlining, of course. Dummy wasn't even smart enough to have a dog with him, yet he was wearing a police canine vest. It didn't work. Like a little poodle with him. It didn't work. And I, maybe this was known information before, but I hadn't heard it anywhere. Did any of you guys watch the Mickey Mouse Club back in the day on the Disney Channel?

01:06:42 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, with Justin Timberlake.

01:06:44 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 3:

And J.C. Chazet and Brittany and Keri Russell. Ryan Gosling was on there. Well, did you know that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon tried out for the MMC? Of course they did.

01:06:55 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 1:

I remember we both auditioned for something that we weren't told exactly what it was. We went in and kind of were asked to do some impromptu performing. We were teenagers. And later found out it was the reinvention of the Mickey Mouse Club. We did not get the play. We didn't get cast.

01:07:09 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 3:

I could totally see them. Man! Ben! Guys, I lived for this show. Do you know how many times this song was played in my childhood?

01:07:23 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:07:24 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 3:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

01:07:43 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Inappropriate enough, we're giving away a trip to Disney World. Katie?

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes, good morning.

01:07:48 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. You're now qualified for this trip. Congratulations to you.

01:07:52 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

01:07:54 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 2:

We're setting you up with a $50 cash card. You're qualified for a trip to Walt Disney World where you could be riding that brand new Tron ride. Congratulations.

01:08:05 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you. It was really hard to watch everybody go on spring break over the break, and we were here in the cold, so this would be amazing.

01:08:14 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

I know. I know. It's amazing. You know what? But that was tough. And then, you know, watching all those people. And my son's in the Catholic school, so they don't go away and get off until after Easter, which is this weekend. And so we're going away this weekend. And this next week is going to be 80-degree temperatures here in town.

01:08:35 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh.

01:08:36 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 2:

They're saying that we actually may have a couple of 80-degree days. I know.

01:08:40 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. Hey, hang on. Very cool. Well, thank you so much.

01:08:43 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Hang on the phone. We'll get your information, okay?

01:08:45 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thank you.

01:08:46 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

Special thanks to our friends from Walt Disney World Vacations and also to our buddy over at Zot Ford, Steve Gabara, for that. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. We have Tigers opening day tickets that we're going to be giving away, and we'll do it sometime in the next 45 minutes. I'm thinking like 8 o'clock, so I'm going to do that for you. We'll try to make sure we do it right around like 8 o'clock-ish. So if you have to go somewhere, maybe tell them you'll be a little bit late and we'll give you a chance to go see the Tigers take on the Boston Red Sox today for opening day. It's Mojo in the morning show. Wow. This is a talent.

01:09:22 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 3:

You know, I don't know that I would call it a talent. Maybe. Is it something I should be proud of?

01:09:28 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 2:

You should actually see if you could get on, what is it, America? What's the Nick Cannon show? Got Talent, yeah. The Masked Singer?

01:09:36 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

No. That one too. I mean, I forgot he does both of those. No, my fiancee, Wes, and I went to the gym last night, and we're working out. And I really don't necessarily know what I'm doing. So he was, like, showing me some of the stuff to do. And he had me doing this, like, thing with the cables and the ropes. And I was, like, going over my head. Well, I think that it was...

01:10:00 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 2:

It was way, way, way too heavy for me. So I had my feet kind of like spread apart like this. And I was trying really hard to get these stupid things over my head. And all of a sudden, I felt it happen. And I made a face. So Wes knew something was wrong. And he looked at me and he goes, are you okay? Did you hurt yourself? And I said, no, I'm going to do my thing. And he goes, what? What just happened? And I said, I pushed my tampon out of my body doing that exercise. Guys, I thought he was going to throw up. I didn't know that was possible. It is possible. It is possible.

01:10:36 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 1:

Does that happen?

01:10:37 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 2:

It happened.

01:10:38 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 1:

A lot or no?

01:10:39 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 2:

Not a lot. No. I mean, it has to be a real special occasion for it to happen.

01:10:43 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, it would never happen to me in the gym because I would have to go to the gym. But tell me why this always happens. I sneeze more when I'm on my period, and it happens when I sneeze sometimes. Yeah.

01:10:54 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 2:

It's awful. And full disclosure, I was not wearing underwear because some yoga pants, you can see the underwear lines real well, so I wasn't.

01:11:01 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 3:

You're never wearing underwear. Have you noticed? I'm wearing underwear right now. In all your stories, you say, I carry around seven pairs of underwear in my purse, but when it comes to any story, you're like,

01:11:11 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 1:

but I wasn't wearing underwear.

01:11:13 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 2:

When was I not wearing underwear?

01:11:14 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 1:

No, you do say, you'll say, I wasn't wearing underwear.

01:11:16 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 2:

At night, I don't wear underwear. I let it air out, as you all should.

01:11:19 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 1:

We're going to have to keep track. We're going to have an underwear tote board here or something. We're going to have like a scoreboard in the studio. That's weird.

01:11:28 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 3:

That's where you draw the line on the show?

01:11:32 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

Keep track of it mentally, then. April 5th, 2023. Okay, so I've always wanted to ask this question of my wife or my sisters and see if they would answer us.

01:11:44 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 2:

Mommy, what is a vagina?

01:11:45 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 1:

No, I've always wanted to ask.

01:11:47 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Honest to God. That was yesterday.

01:11:48 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 1:

I've always wanted to ask this question about the tampon and about doing it. Because I would have a hard time doing it and stuff. Doing what?

01:12:03 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 2:

Explain.

01:12:05 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Elaborate. Everybody be quiet. Elaborate. No, I would have a hard time right now sticking things up my nose.

01:12:13 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. You know what I mean?

01:12:15 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever try to do the nasal sprays Up your nose I have one of those Tremors And every time I do it I have to close my eyes Because it bothers me So I didn't know I know I understand

01:12:33 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people have told me The nose is very similar to the lady bits I'm glad you made that connection

01:12:40 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 1:

I was trying to think of something That you have to stick

01:12:42 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 2:

How do you get it back? How does it go back in? You take that one out and you start fresh.

01:12:49 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 1:

You can't just push it back in? No.

01:12:51 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 2:

It's probably not healthy nor sanitary to do that.

01:12:55 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 1:

I just sat down and it went back in.

01:12:57 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

My vagina just tried to bite me. Then I had to walk to the bathroom like a waddle like this.

01:13:03 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 1:

My legs go wide. Nobody can see it. Nobody sees it like that. What's up, Alex? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

01:13:12 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. So this happened to me last week at work. My coworker and I always, like, try and scare each other. And so I was trying to scare her, and I jumped and, like, shouted boo at her. And it shot out of me, and I made the same face Shannon probably did. And my coworker was like, what happened? Like, I think she thought I peed my pants, which I don't know which I would prefer. And I was like, oh, my God, my tampons just shot out. I know. It still shocks me.

01:13:45 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It was a nightmare. Could you imagine men having a period for just one?

01:13:51 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 1:

No. No, we're not strong enough. It would be a bunch of dudes running around trying to scare each other. I can't even deal with it when I cut myself and I put a Band-Aid on, you know? Alex, thank you for the call. Jasmine wants to give Megan and Shannon a compliment It says here You're going to give them a compliment?

01:14:12 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I said In order to be able to push out a tampon Through workouts Or sneezing, you have some super strong Vagina muscles Thank you

01:14:22 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 2:

I swear sitting on that chair That pelvic floor chair helped me so much

01:14:26 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 3:

I would like the men out here Saying that I shouldn't be hugging up with people To hear this one one more time What was that?

01:14:32 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Tell me I have a nice...

01:14:35 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 2:

My vagina's angry.

01:14:39 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. Well, there you go. That's a compliment. You can put that in your dating profile, Meg. Lee wants to be voiceless, guys. This could be because of an embarrassing story. What's going on, Lee?

01:14:51 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

So when I was about 12 years old, I used to use them campions, and my parents never taught me. My mom never taught me how to use them properly.

01:15:00 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 1:

So the very first time I used one, I was very uncomfortable. We had went out to dinner, and I couldn't sit still. My mom was like, are you okay? And I'm like, I think there's something wrong with my team pun. So apparently I didn't know that you're supposed to take it out of the cardboard. So I used the cardboard and all up there.

01:15:18 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. No, you did not.

01:15:20 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 1:

Wait, out, out, out, out.

01:15:21 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 3:

First of all, shame on your mom for getting you cardboard ones. Second of all.

01:15:26 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what that means. Does it come wrapped in cardboard or something? Yeah.

01:15:28 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 3:

It is plastic.

01:15:30 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 2:

And are cardboard ones cheap?

01:15:32 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:15:33 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is? Okay. Listen, I'm going to spend a lot of money on something like that. You know what I mean? Like, there's certain things you spend the money on.

01:15:40 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 3:

Don't ask me how much my Diva cups are. Ugh, gross. Are they expensive? They're like 50 bucks each. Me? Wow. Yes. Oh, girl. A cup? Is it like a cup like baseball? Yes. That's exactly what it is. No. It's like a silicone shot glass.

01:15:58 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever run out of shot glasses and use them, or because they're so expensive, you don't?

01:16:03 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what hurt my feelings the most is I turn 30, and you have to change sizes, and that hurt. It was like, hey, guess what?

01:16:11 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:16:11 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 3:

You're getting older.

01:16:12 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 2:

They actually have different sizes for different ages, like an age range?

01:16:16 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 3:

Either if you have kids or if you just get older and you don't have kids. What is the sizing? Is it like small, medium? They number it. It's just like a one, two, three.

01:16:30 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Shan, what's up?

01:16:32 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just want Mojo, especially you, love you lots, but listen, any man listening to this right now, you need to realize the vagina is a very, very powerful thing in not to mess with her.

01:16:43 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 2:

Amen. Amen.

01:16:45 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 5:

Yes, ma'am.

01:16:46 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm not messing, Shan, so thank you. Thank you for reminding me, though.

01:16:50 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay, and you need to learn and listen to these ladies, okay?

01:16:54 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm listening to them right now. Listen, I'm telling you, I was raised by my sisters, and, of course, I have a very strong wife. You've heard her before on the air, Chelsea. So, listen, I bow down before you.

01:17:05 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 5:

And teach your boys.

01:17:06 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:17:06 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 5:

And teach your boys.

01:17:07 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Oh, and she definitely does it. Well, what's up, Amanda?

01:17:12 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 4:

Yes, hello, Mojo in the morning. Good morning, everybody. Good morning.

01:17:15 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:17:17 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I'm 41 years old, and this is a nightmare because I'll never forget it. Remember Geogal Lake?

01:17:21 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't Was that like a water Okay I was going to ask that

01:17:26 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 4:

Yep so my mom actually taught me With a mirror standing over a mirror When I was about 12 To put a tampon in While still so new at it And of course we go to Geauga Lake And I'm like great I'm on my period So I think I have it incorrectly I'm walking up a water slide with my step sister at the time And I can feel it not all the way in As it slides down into my bathing suit I am dripping blood It was in jail. Oh, my God.

01:17:51 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:17:52 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 4:

I went down the water slide and head to a bathroom. Oh, you poor thing.

01:17:57 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

And that's in front of friends, probably, and family and stuff like that.

01:18:01 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Family and friends, yes. And my mom did come down from the slide and come help me out.

01:18:07 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 2:

That's like the worst nightmare ever.

01:18:08 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Here I am. Years and years later, you'll just never forget those moments of being a woman, for sure.

01:18:13 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you for calling and appreciate that. and every mom that's driving their child to school today is going, thanks, Mojo in the Morning, for this topic at this particular time. Maybe this is a lesson for your daughters, you know, or your sons.

01:18:26 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 3:

I feel like it does need to normalize it for the girls out there. Like, this was my biggest fear growing up was any sort of, like, period malfunction. And it happens. It was everybody. Yeah, and look, we just got a compliment today

01:18:37 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 2:

because of it. Isn't that nice? It's nice to get compliments. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. so chelsea told me something yesterday that really hurt my feelings but was very eye-opening chelsea's my wife we were watching a show which i recommend to watch and i think i mentioned this to you guys i just started watching it this past weekend and just finished it and it's so good But I was watching that show on Apple TV, Shrinking.

01:19:11 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you've been talking about that one. It's so good. Is that the Harrison Ford one?

01:19:13 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Harrison Ford's in that movie. And what is that guy's name? Is it Jason Segel, I believe, or whatever his name is? He was in a whole bunch of stuff early on, and then all of a sudden he kind of went away. So we were watching it in bed, and we're laying there, and there was just an unbelievable scene in one of the episodes that I just started bawling my eyes out. I started crying big time. And she looked over at me, and Chelsea's not a crier. I'm the crier in the family. And she looks over at me, and then she starts laughing. And when Chelsea laughs, you know it's something that really made her laugh because she will chuckle every now and again, but it was like dead-on laughing. She looked over at me as I was crying, and I...

01:20:00 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 1:

I go, what are you laughing about? How could you laugh at a time like this when it was very, very sad? And she goes, I'm sorry, it is sad. She goes, but you are the ugliest crier I have ever seen. I've cried in front of you guys. I've cried in front of listeners. I've cried in front of our bosses, our coworkers. I've cried a lot over the time on this show. Why didn't any of you guys ever tell me that I'm an ugly crier? To be fair, nobody's a pretty crier. There's nobody out there that looks good when they cry.

01:20:33 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 5:

Not true.

01:20:33 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 1:

You don't think girls are cute when they cry?

01:20:37 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 5:

Some of those girls on The Bachelor, when they're in that limo being driven away, they're still cute. Good call. Yes. Real cute. They just dab at their eyes.

01:20:46 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 1:

See, I have always thought that girls are beautiful criers all the time. And I thought I was kind of a cute crier, too, because people were so sympathetic to me.

01:20:55 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, not all, because I cry like Kim Kardashian, and that's very ugly crying, notoriously ugly crying.

01:21:00 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Is Kim Kardashian, which I've seen a couple of times cry, is she like me where she gets, like, snot coming out of her nose like it's that bad?

01:21:07 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 4:

It's almost like a gaping frog mouth that just hangs open the entire time she cries. And honestly, I do the same.

01:21:15 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And then the worst was right after Chelsea exposed to me for the first time ever in my life finding out that I was an ugly crier, she went to snapchat to show me the snapchat ugly crier the filter filter yeah and took it and took a picture of me ugly crying which was very very depressing so good do you like my picture ugly crying it's very sad oh my gosh that oh yeah by the way and lydia just sent us the kim kardashian we both do kind of look alike in this we should kp you should uh put the kim kardashian and myself ugly crying you know it is it's the mouth open wide it's the eyes that kind of look kind of weird you know where you lose your breath it looks like yeah i do that when i cry i can't catch my breath

01:22:00 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 4:

have you ever done the full face of makeup you're crying so you bend over at the waist so the tears just fall directly out of your eyes and don't go down here and ruin your foundation no that is a trick i did not know what if i have really first of all my foundation is expensive and i'm not messing it up okay i put a lot of effort in for this look and even if i get sad which happens to me way too often you just bend over and you blink really hard and you let them just fall to the

01:22:30 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 1:

floor oh oh that's when you know it's a good cry right wait that is seriously genius megan

01:22:40 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 4:

I hope all of you learned something from the show today And it's how to cry without ruining your makeup

01:22:45 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Or text 95500 Nahida

01:22:53 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi

01:22:54 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? What kind of crier are you?

01:22:57 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 3:

I cry like when I read books And I was Reading a book With my one daughter And a dog died and I cried and she laughed at me

01:23:07 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 2:

And

01:23:08 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 3:

And this weekend, I was reading the Trevor Noah story, and his mom got shot, and I cried. And they both just laughed so hard.

01:23:22 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 6:

What is it about how you cry that they think is so darn funny? I don't, I don't. Why do you guys think it's funny when I cry? We need to hear an impression. Put him on the phone.

01:23:35 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Guys, put him on speakerphone. Guys, what?

01:23:39 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 3:

Hold on one second.

01:23:39 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay, hold on.

01:23:41 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm still talking to you guys.

01:23:42 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, imitate your mom when she cries.

01:23:46 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 6:

Like, oh, my God.

01:23:49 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, there's the...

01:23:50 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 6:

It's the shake. It's the shake and the cry.

01:23:53 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 1:

She's blubbering. I'm a little blubber. Is she a blubberer crier? Does she get it all over the place?

01:23:59 - 01:23:59 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:23:59 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Is it embarrassing? Like, do you guys hope that she doesn't cry in front of, like, your friends?

01:24:05 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, I don't really care. I'm going to cry in front of your friends. What? I'm going to embarrass you guys for real.

01:24:13 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 1:

Has your mom ever cried at school, like at something that you guys have had at school?

01:24:18 - 01:24:18 | Unknown:

Mm-mm.

01:24:19 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 3:

Have I ever cried at something you guys had at school? No. I don't think so.

01:24:22 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 1:

It's coming. Wait till you guys graduate. Wait till you guys graduate or you have something cool happening like that. There's going to be your mom again. With that voice.

01:24:31 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Thanks a lot.

01:24:34 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 1:

We love you for calling. Thank you. What's going on, Valerie?

01:24:38 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 2:

So, good morning. I am an ugly crier, but I just have to say that something I have always found funny is that, like, when you're watching Real Housewives or Any Bachelor, you watch the women dab their face as they're crying, but they always have to look to see if they got makeup on the face. Ah, the T-nex! Yes, Valerie! Yes!

01:25:00 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 3:

like i still gotta look good kim what's happening it's mojo in the morning hi i was calling um i've been going through like ibs treatments for the last few years and you guys know it's just so many hormones that you're on so your emotions are kind of uncontrollable and i'll just stop like a toddler i feel like and It'll get to the point where my husband and I are both laughing at me because we both know just how ridiculous it is, but I can't control it. So it gets to the point where we just kind of have to, like, find the humor in how ridiculous I cry on all of the hormones.

01:25:41 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. You call us if he ever makes fun of you, okay?

01:25:46 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, he would never. He's very supportive.

01:25:49 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 1:

Good.

01:25:50 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 3:

Good luck.

01:25:51 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 1:

Maya, what's up?

01:25:53 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 4:

Hello, guys. How are you?

01:25:55 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good. What's happening? We're talking about ugly criers.

01:25:58 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 4:

I have never called in Megan. I literally laughed out loud because this happened to me. Like recently, my ex-boyfriend broke up with me right before we were going to go out to dinner with my family. So I had all my makeup on. And, of course, I had to do the bend over, cry, let him hit the floor. He's like, what are you doing? I'm like, you just broke up with me. I spent two hours getting ready. I am not ruining this.

01:26:21 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 2:

You are a queen. An absolute queen.

01:26:25 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 1:

good for you Maya thank you for the call welcome to opening day 2023 Tigers baseball the Detroit Tigers today taking on the Boston Red Sox and we got some fun for you today this is going to be good I can't go to the game today so I want to give away my tickets that I have That is so nice. Yes. Well, thank you. I appreciate that. But also, to be perfectly honest with you, I love the name of this contest so much that I said, you know what? I'd be willing to wait until like July to be able to go to my next Tigers game just to be able to do this on the radio show today for opening day. And I don't know how many other radio shows are giving away opening day tickets. I'm assuming that not many others are. And ready for this one? It is time now in the Mojo in the Morning Show to play Opening Day or Openly Gay. Take me out to the crowd. Oh, you're going to change the words? We're going to change the words.

01:27:40 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

I should have changed the words.

01:27:43 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 1:

Ready for this, guys? Here's the contest here. And we'll get the contestants first, and then I'll explain it to all of them. First off, welcome contestant number one, Jillian. Hello, Jillian. Hi, Jillian.

01:27:54 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

01:27:56 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 1:

We're doing good, Jillian. You excited for opening day?

01:27:59 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm so excited. I can't wait.

01:28:01 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Very nice to have you on with us. Welcome contestant number two, Emily. Hello, Emily. Hi, how are you? Good, Emily. Now, Jillian, I didn't ask you where you're from, but where are you from, Emily?

01:28:13 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 4:

01:28:34 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 3:

boston mass what oh my gosh no wait no no wait a second how did he get through we can't have a

01:28:44 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 1:

Red Sox fan on the phone with us right now? Oh, that is an evil laugh. Lydia, call him from your car. What are you doing?

01:28:55 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 4:

I listen. You don't get to see the Sox every day.

01:28:59 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 1:

So wait a second. Are you in the Detroit area right now or in Michigan?

01:29:03 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 3:

I live about two hours from Detroit. I live in northwest Ohio.

01:29:07 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you listen to us on KISS then,

01:29:09 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 3:

right? Yes, I do.

01:29:11 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 1:

Alright, so you are from Ohio. So you could have said he's from Ohio, and we would have gone, oh, great. We got a KISS listener listening. But he had to say he's from Boston, and he had to, like, screw it all up for us right now.

01:29:23 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 4:

And here's the thing. I like to defend my KISS listeners, but I don't know if I can defend a Red Sox fan.

01:29:28 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

I think we are hating on you right now, Stephen. All right, hold on a second, okay? So here's the deal. Jillian and Emily, you guys better be better at this, okay?

01:29:36 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 2:

100%.

01:29:37 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's what we're doing, guys. We're playing a contest, like you heard, called Opening Day or Openly Gay. Shannon's going to read off a name. That name is either going to be a member of the 2023 Tigers roster, somebody that's on their team right now, or an openly gay celebrity.

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 3:

okay okay it's just like the throwback throwdown you got to call out your name if you know the

01:30:06 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 1:

answer yeah your name is your buzzer so you call out your name if you scream out the answer we then disqualify you and move to one of the other two contestants uh or whoever you know however many people say it um and then uh real quick first to three just like the throwback throwdown so the first to three correct is oh no you know what we're gonna change it we're gonna have you round all the bases. We're going to have you touch home, too. First to four to do this, okay? First to four. Ready?

01:30:37 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 3:

You're going to see the Tigers play today against the Boston Red Sox.

01:34:46 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 2:

You know what?

01:34:49 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I couldn't be happier right now. I was rooting for Jillian and Emily because I can't see allowing a Red Sox fan to bring in his. Boston attitude into Comerica Park.

01:35:04 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

How about them apples? I'm a therapist, and I have, like, all my tigers here on because I'm already at work waiting for my first patient. So I'm about to cancel the rest of my day.

01:35:14 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Wait a second. Wait, all those people need therapy, though.

01:35:16 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

Trust me. I had mine yesterday, and it was necessary.

01:35:20 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though? Here's the thing. Maybe you could do it, like, don't they do it now over? Yeah. No. No, don't worry about it. You know what? You deserve a day, too. This is a mental health day for you, right?

01:35:32 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

01:35:33 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Congratulations to you, Emily. You're going to see the Tigers play today. Enjoy those seats, okay? They're good ones. I will. Who are you taking with you?

01:35:42 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 2:

Probably my mom.

01:35:44 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's cool. A good mom and daughter.

01:35:46 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 2:

My father's a teacher, so I can't take him out of school.

01:35:48 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Get a substitute. Tell him to fake a cold or something, okay?

01:35:53 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:35:54 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hang on the phone for one second. Thanks for playing Mojo in the Morning Show. Got a lot to talk about. Hey, if you missed anything at all from this morning's program, including a topic that was near and dear to my heart, and I really want to know what the listeners think about this. You can actually go to our Instagram and Facebook and see what I look like in it. Our visors for douchebags. I have sported a visor, and I'm thinking about wearing it. My son says he won't allow me to wear it. So you can check that out. But also, Mike and his bad first impression and what he did in front of our clients in West Michigan from the Kia of West Michigan. Is that what it's called? Kia of Grand Rapids North. Kia of Grand Rapids North. Yeah. And what was the guy's name? John Dutton? John Comstock. John Comstock.

01:36:47 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 2:

It is such a great cowboy name.

01:36:49 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 1:

Who by far, the general manager, John Comstock, should be on Yellowstone. then the War of the Roses which if you missed that I suggest that it might not be a bad idea to go check that out you can do it now if you want to or stay with us because we've got some good stuff to talk about if you're listening live a spring break cheater and then I think that this morning's one that's going to get the most out of all the podcasts it will be the big podcast of the day was any time that you talk about a woman's private parts no matter what you're saying about it you talk about the vagina people for some reason like to listen to it by the way why do i have yellowstone still playing hold on sorry about that let me get that down for a second but uh shannon talking about uh uh what happened to her when she was working out yesterday and what happened to her vagina and then megan with the comes in for the the win with the punch at the end of the whole deal they're gonna play this thing at morning show boot camp i promise you We're going to be teaching radio shows how to do that.

01:37:53 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

I've never been asked to be on a panel. I would just be so honored if this is what got me in.

01:37:58 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 1:

You guys should be on the women's panel. I'll call Michelle McCormick and see if I can work that out. Just talking about that particular topic alone would be good.

01:38:04 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 2:

How come we've never been asked? What's wrong with us? You know what?

01:38:07 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 1:

I'll get you guys if you guys want to. I thought you guys all thought that that was nerdy to be at boot camp.

01:38:11 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 2:

No, I get offended that I never invited.

01:38:15 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I will call up Don Anthony and we'll get it said. But I actually, you know, I get to give away the award that I got last year, that Kid Craddock Award, which was a really cool honor that I got. Kid Craddock was a legend in the radio business. Our listeners may not have ever heard of him, but he owned Dallas, Texas for so many years. I mean, he was as big or bigger than the Dallas Cowboys. They did an award based on him and all the efforts that he's made over the years of trying to be a positive influence towards others getting into radio. And I gave that award for this year, and it will be, and it's such an honor to be able to do this, to one of my best buddies in the world and a guy who really helped us start this radio show, Dave Ryan from KDWB in Minneapolis. Yeah. That's super cool. Made the choice to do that.

01:39:02 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 2:

It's still in Chicago, right?

01:39:04 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 1:

No, it's going to Dallas.

01:39:05 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

01:39:05 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 1:

Because it's the, I think it's an anniversary of Kid's death. I think it might be his 10th anniversary or something.

01:39:13 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, now I can't make the joke because it's serious, but I was going to say I was only going to go so I could go see Ellen, but okay.

01:39:19 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 1:

Will you break that umbilical cord right now?

01:39:22 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not, never.

01:39:23 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 1:

I know. You are still stuck. You guys are like conjoined twins together.

01:39:30 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 2:

I wish. She would fear that. I would welcome that with open arms.

01:39:34 - 01:39:47 | Speaker 1:

I always thought that you and Jillian would have hit that part of your relationship where it would have overtaken Ellen. And I know Ellen probably might have been a little jealous of that. But you and Jillian are such good friends.

01:39:47 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 2:

We are.

01:39:48 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 1:

And you guys do so much together. I always watch your social media. And whenever I see you guys together, you guys always look like you're so happy.

01:39:54 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Here's why we're not conjoined at the hip, me and Jillian. Because although I love that girl with all of my freaking...

01:40:00 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 1:

freaking hard. It's not even funny. She reminds me all the time that I am not on the cusp of Gen Z and that I am a full-fledged millennial. And that's where I draw the line at friendship. We will never be as close as we could be because she's disrespectful. Disrespectful. Why? Because she calls me old. But on top of that, I did learn something this past week that we both cope in the most interesting and similar ways possible. So last week, I actually went to two funerals. and yeah it's been it's been um a month I know I keep saying that I'm not gonna get into it but like there's some family issues going on it's fine the funerals were just not what I was expecting obviously that was a lot and um I love Jillian to death but she unfortunately is going through a crummy breakup right now and so the two of us kind of had and I'll say this you'd probably be mad but we kind of had manic episodes this week um she uh got three tattoos and did she really i absolutely love her and she booked the tattoo appointment one evening and then the next morning she had all three tattoos and that same day i booked a hair appointment at like six in the morning and then got my hair done and it looks completely different and we just realized that we both cope in completely different ways with stress wait listeners were texting us because

01:41:30 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 4:

they saw your uh podcast the slightly messy podcast and the listeners all said something about your hair referencing that and i didn't get to see it oh it's so good so wait a second so what did you do to your hair i feel like we need a spice girls song because that's the number one

01:41:47 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

reference i'm getting today is that what you were going for i was going for um 70s fleetwood mac vibes okay i i'm not like i'm so thrilled and so happy but everybody today has been oh my god oh your ginger's ginger spice 10 000 it looks good it looks so good thank you so so good thank you uh my brother said i looked like rogue yesterday when i came home so for all of my nerdy little guys out there. Got the rogue hair today or the ginger spice for my girl.

01:42:21 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm just happy you didn't do bangs because a lot of girls who are going through stuff get bangs and friends don't let friends get bangs. You know what I learned yesterday

01:42:28 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 3:

is that, Megan taught me this, is that girls have, and Shannon, maybe you do have this too, have a couple friends that they will ask specifically if they're going to make a big haircut change like that. Like two or three friends that they ask and go, hey, this is what I want to do. This is what I'm going to do with my hair. And they either get yeses or nos on this did you run this by your friends megan of course i did ellen jillian

01:42:51 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 1:

and katie all got a text and it was is this okay and they were like yes and i said thanks and they all said absolutely not and i i went to go see uh dylan i gotta give him a shot he's awesome dylan at fiber and strand it's a new salon here in toledo i literally just walked up and was like can you please make me an appointment um but he uh at the end was like so we're doing a haircut to you and I go yeah and he goes are we doing bangs and I said the way that you phrased that

01:43:17 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 4:

said we're not doing bangs and he said no let me let me throw this out there then to the listeners you guys tell me if you think this is the topic on this one um what was the major event that happened in your life and what did you do uh like to yourself like what was the change that you did because Jillian again who Jillian is our marketing director right in uh in Toledo and she does

01:43:41 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 1:

mornings on our sister station. Which station is she on? She's on 101.5 The River with

01:43:45 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 4:

Rick. Aww. Yeah. And she

01:43:47 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 1:

sounds so much like you. Yeah. I know.

01:43:49 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 4:

You can only listen to her when we're not playing a Spice Girls song, okay? Okay, so she's going through a breakup. She got a, how many tattoos? Three in one day. Oh my god. That's like a lot of tattoos. I like it.

01:44:09 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 3:

That's my move too, though, is tattoos. Tattoos are food Sometimes But it's positive and negative If I'm in a good mood or bad mood

01:44:17 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 4:

So she did the tattoos Megan did the hair What did you do? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Is the telephone number

01:44:25 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 2:

When I was going through my divorce Although nobody knew I was going through a divorce Obviously you guys did But I dyed my hair blonde

01:44:29 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 4:

I remember when you did that I didn't know You know what? I didn't even put two and two together on that whole deal

01:44:34 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 2:

So that was I thought

01:44:36 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 4:

I thought your hair lady Kelly Talked you into something Well she did

01:44:40 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 2:

But, I mean, that was why. And also, I feel like a lot of women do this, too, after they have babies. They do something to, like, their hair or, you know, mostly their hair.

01:44:50 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what guys do? They go out and buy a sports car. A motorcycle. Or guys buy something. They make a purchase of something. They buy a sports car.

01:45:00 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 1:

A sports car, a motorcycle, a gun, or something. You know what I mean? Like, they go out and get something out there. 844 Mojo Live. Hold on. We got Julie with us to kick this off. What's up, Julie?

01:45:10 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Julie.

01:45:13 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 5:

So, Megan, I do the same thing of you and your friend. I had a big breakup, and I got a pretty big tattoo. But I have had little heartbreaks, and I get drastic hair changes every time.

01:45:29 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 1:

So how many hair changes or tattoos have you gotten? Because I want to count how many issues we've had.

01:45:35 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 5:

Two tattoos and three crazy haircuts.

01:45:39 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 1:

Man, we got to find you a good relationship so that you don't have to keep doing this stuff.

01:45:46 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm in one now.

01:45:47 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, good. All right. So when's the hair, the last time the hair's been done?

01:45:54 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 5:

18, 2018.

01:45:56 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 1:

2018.

01:45:57 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 5:

That's not bad. Way to be stable. I'm proud of you.

01:46:01 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good one. We've got to applaud her. Caitlin, what's going on?

01:46:05 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you?

01:46:07 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What was the change that you did?

01:46:10 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 4:

I got my nipples pierced. Oh, that's a nice big one. I'm very proud of you. Yes. And then after, I have kids with him too, so I definitely wore a shirt where you could see the piercings to it.

01:46:24 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes! Yes!

01:46:25 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 4:

And did you notice his eyes wandering? Oh, yeah, for sure, for sure. You are obsessed with it. Oh, what did he say? He just asked. He's like, did you just get your nipples pierced? So, yeah.

01:46:41 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 1:

Why are you looking at my nipples? Should have been your reaction to that whole thing. Austin, or Allison, I'm sorry. Allison, what's going on?

01:46:49 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I was getting out of the military and going through a divorce at the same time, And I shaved my head

01:46:56 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that's badass

01:47:00 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I feel like every woman If it's like the right season of life They should do it Because you learn a whole new level of self-love

01:47:10 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Did they treat you like Britney though And think that you needed a conservator?

01:47:14 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 3:

Yep, absolutely I had a couple people that were like Hey, are you like legit okay? Because I got out of the military going through the divorce But most people told me I was badass I looked like G.I.J., and I kept it really short for a while, but now I've grown it back out.

01:47:29 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's hot. Thank you for the call.

01:47:32 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 3:

01:47:33 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 1:

Yep. That's how badass she is. She is. I'm not even going to say, you're welcome. TK, this is one that's actually kind of positive for everyone. What did you do when you went through a big change?

01:47:47 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 6:

When I went through a breakup, I actually renovated my house. I needed somebody to knock out and not go to jail for it, So the house took to her a hit.

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well, I mean, that's definitely healthier.

01:48:00 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It was good talking to you guys.

01:48:03 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. See, that would send me back into a spiral. Yeah. Don't worry. I got a couple of tattoos afterwards.

01:49:48 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, for sure.

01:49:50 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 1:

Kind of shows it all off.

01:49:51 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 2:

Wait, Megan, are we posting your hair? We got to post it. It looks so good. Thank you, Shannon. I was really nervous.

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:51:26 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, you might see this trending this morning. Nike has angered some feminists after making trans social media star Dylan Mulvaney one of its new faces of its women's clothing line. Dylan has a huge, huge, huge social media following, so this makes a lot of sense. And you may have seen her post some photos and videos on her Instagram page where she's jumping around in a pair of Nike leggings and a sports bra. She tagged Nike women, had a link to the products on there. It was a paid sponsorship. She was very clear about that. But everybody hopped on Twitter to share their thoughts about this with some people just very upset that, again, a trans social media star was promoting a female sportswear line. And this comes after Bud Light got a lot of backlash for partnering with Dylan for a March Madness promotion a couple of weeks ago. Was it the feminists that were mad Or was it just like Transphobic Honestly it was just people Yes like people in general

01:52:18 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 1:

There were a lot of And I don't know who they are I don't know their names But I was reading some of the tweets And then I looked back And they were They were part Some of these feminists Were part of some

01:52:29 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 2:

Various organizations

01:52:30 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 1:

Various organizations Yeah But I'm sure that there's a lot of people That are just Yeah But I will say this to you That Nike gets the press Out of this deal Oh, yeah. And we talked about it earlier this morning. I also feel like some of these companies, they all just like randomly do it. And somebody needs to like get a microphone and ask their CEOs, hey, tell us about this. Because I bet you the CEOs don't even know what's going on and what the reasoning is.

01:52:58 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yep. Kim Kardashian has some pretty insane cars. But when you get them all together, it's even more insane. Did you see the photos yesterday of her entire lineup out on display in the curved driveway at her Hidden Hills mansion yesterday? The cumulative cost of her vehicles is estimated upwards of two and a half million dollars. So I don't know if they were if they were washing the cars or what was going on, but every single one taken out of the garage. Kim's not even in town. She's on a trip to Japan at the moment, but included in that line, a 2022 custom Mercedes. Is it Maybach? Maybach?

01:53:35 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 1:

Maybach? I don't know, whatever.

01:53:37 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 2:

A quarter of a million dollars. A 2023 custom Cadillac Escalade worth around 200 grand. A 2022 Lamborghini Urus, one of the most expensive of her cars, $400,000. And then a 2020 Maybach, Maybach, however the hell you say that car, another $250,000. I mean, just. And they're all the same color.

01:53:59 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 1:

A Kia Sportage. I was going to say, does she have the Sorento too? I don't think so. Because she heard the commercials and she said, that's Tanya Lalonde right there. I love her. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. She bought it today.

01:54:13 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of Kim, Kim and Rihanna have risen, along with Jay-Z, to the top spots on Forbes' list of the world's richest billionaires. Rihanna coming in at $2,002. She's worth $1.4 billion. Jay-Z at $1,217. He's worth $2.5 billion. Kim Kardashian coming in at $2,259 on that list. Among the other top earners, Oprah, Steven Spielberg, Michael Jordan, Elon Musk, was dethroned this year as the world's richest person alive. LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault was beating him this year. And he's the guy who's the head of the parent company that has all of those luxury labels like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dias.

01:54:55 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the richest in the state of Michigan? so Dan Gil

01:55:00 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 3:

Gilbert's still the richest net worth, $16.6 billion. He's actually the 97th richest in the world, they said. Then Rhonda Stryker, the Meyer family, Hank Meyer and family, then Doug Meyer and family, Mark Meyer and family, Matt Ishbia, Marion Ellich, Roger Penske, William Young, and Alan Zeckelman. So the Meyer family is like almost every other spot on that.

01:55:29 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. And lastly, Christina Aguilera opening up and making all sorts of revelations about her sex life during an X-rated episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast. Apparently, she loves the Mile High Club.

01:55:42 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Okay, hold on. Am I playing Christina 2?

01:55:45 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 4:

Christina 2.

01:55:46 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 3:

2. All right, hold on one second. Hold on. I'm queuing up. Hold on a second here.

01:55:51 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

Did I not put it on there for you?

01:55:52 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 3:

No. No, one's labeled one, one's labeled two. Here, I'll start.

01:55:56 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 2:

Dang it, I'm sorry.

01:55:56 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm going to start playing it, and you tell me. I think it might be this one right here, this one.

01:56:00 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Plane can be fun. We've definitely hid some things under the blankets when the seats are big enough to, like, you know, we've been, you know, I can't believe we didn't get caught, like, so many times in so many situations. Like, thank you, Lord. Are you talking about a private plane, though? No, I'm not, actually. On international flight, turn the light off. Like, the chairs are, like, you know, there's always, like, room for, like, get creative.

01:56:24 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 4:

She also said it's very important To be with a partner where you can really Explore Those were her words of advice

01:56:32 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh am I playing number one now?

01:56:36 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 4:

01:57:28 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 3:

Nice to have you on here today. We've got a $50 cash card for you, so go spend that whichever way you like, and then be listening when we pick the grand prize winner of a trip to Disney World.

01:57:40 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm so excited.

01:57:42 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 3:

Good luck to you. Have a great day. I hope you start feeling better. It's this weather. I'm telling you, it's the craziness. Is it just me, or does it just seem like every day the weather is different and we're all being faced with, you know, all the rain and everything?

01:57:58 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 4:

But you know what? Next week, it's going to be sunny and up near 80 a couple of days in a row.

01:58:02 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, get better before then.

01:58:03 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 4:

We have that to look forward to. Okay, I'll try.

01:58:05 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 3:

All right, hang on the phone for just one second. When we come back here in just a matter of moments, who donated the dead body to Goodwill? We'll talk about that and the War of the Roses coming up in moments. Oh, and by the way, thank you to Steve Gabara over at Zot Ford for the cash cards for our contest. Be right back.

01:58:27 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm sure he'll stop cheating once you get married. Another War of the Roses is after 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:58:40 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. mojo shannon megan mike kp and lydia hanging with you uh here 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 so it's that time of year where everybody does a little spring cleaning although it's funny because spring cleaning pretty much i feel like in the last like three years everybody just all of a sudden calls it spring cleaning but it could be like the middle of summer and people are still

01:59:06 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 4:

spring cleaning but just means you're really really doing a good deep one yeah so kp what

01:59:11 - 01:59:17 | Speaker 3:

are you spring cleaning and you had to uh bring some stuff over to uh salvation army or goodwill

01:59:17 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

so well i'm always spring cleaning because i'm just a messy person but this happened to someone else and i thought it was wild and i was wondering if this has happened to anybody else so uh i saw this online or tiktok i'm sorry somebody was wandering around a goodwill trying to find like decor for their house and they were going through the jars and they found one that they really liked and they opened it up and they realized that someone had donated someone's uncle like there were ashes in this jar oh no and was it the person that was tick tocking this

01:59:59 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

Where they ticked

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 1:

that they were the ones that got the jar and they show it? Did they show the ashes?

02:00:03 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes, they showed the bag. I'm like, oh my God. And how much was Uncle Jeffrey going for? I don't know. Great question. It probably had a purple sticker for half off that day. But she turned it over on the bottom and it said the person's name and the comments were wild. People were like, yo, who did this to Toby, man? Who donated Toby's body? Do you buy, Toby? Because I would put him next to my dead cat on my mantle. I can't. Have you ever found anything wacky at a Salvation Army or like a Goodwill? This goes a little far.

02:00:44 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 1:

I'm convinced that whenever I have donated stuff, I've left things in my pants pockets or coat pockets or things like that. Because we did a bunch of cleaning in our house because we were trying to decide, are we going to sell our house or what are we going to do? and I'll drop off the bags to the Salvation Army down the street from my house and the funniest is the guy that collects them for you and if you live in Kego Harbor you know exactly which one I'm talking about the guy who collects them for you has you put them up on top of the thing he's like thank you so much and the next thing you know he looks he goes that's a nice hat and he's like trying my hat on and stuff like that

02:01:21 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 2:

I take my stuff to this place called Encore it's on Southfield Road I think it's in Southfield that's Southfield right there and same thing the guy who collects the stuff he's so nice he always comments I don't know.

02:01:30 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm assuming they pay those guys, because, yeah, obviously the guy's working his butt off carrying stuff out of people's cars, but I'm also wondering if maybe they pay them with property. You know, they give you the property.

02:01:41 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 2:

They get first dibs.

02:01:42 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but that's interesting, because Mike was talking about going and looking at couches at Bob's Discount Furniture and dropping Skittles into the couches. I bet you, when you said that, Mike, I'm thinking to myself, you know how many times People have gotten, you know, other people's valuables that they forgot to look. Because when I donate something, I don't check the pockets of all the stuff.

02:02:11 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 4:

So my grandmother on my mom's side, she just recently passed. And she liked to hide her valuables in random places like $100 bills, her jewelry. And when she passed, my grandparents had to go through the entire house, literally flip it upside down, Trying to find these secret hiding places And I keep thinking These people that moved into her house Afterwards are like Redoing their house and then finding Pearls and diamonds in the wall

02:02:40 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 2:

That's my dad's house He finds stuff all the time from the little old lady That used to live there and died there before he moved in Remember he found money

02:02:47 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry Mike but he found money And wouldn't tell us how much right

02:02:50 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah he found a ton of money Hidden It was wrapped up in butcher paper under an old refrigerator in the basement. Did he ever tell you how much money it was? I know how much it was. He told me do not to ever say it publicly. So I'm not going to. Can you put it in the group chat? Yeah, show him. Yeah, I want it in the group chat. I'll put it in the group chat.

02:03:08 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 1:

This makes me want to go to those estate sales and not buy anything but just like look through the drawers and look through the cups. Yeah.

02:03:14 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 4:

All I found in my house was some teeth. Teeth? Teeth? Not like a murder had happened, baby teeth.

02:03:22 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's still... Wow. Shannon just sent us how much? That's a good amount.

02:03:26 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy?

02:03:28 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 1:

But not big enough to get taxed on it. I just want to tell the IRS that. Correct. Allison, what's going on?

02:03:36 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 3:

My first job was working at Salvation Army, and I didn't work in the back, but I had friends who did, and they'd find things, all different sorts of things, but the best thing, the funniest thing that we found was a bag or box of somebody's sex toys that they donated.

02:03:57 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 1:

Whoa, really?

02:03:59 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 3:

It was crazy.

02:04:01 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. People try to bring their sex toys to the Salvation Army to donate?

02:04:08 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 3:

They donated, yeah. It was like a chest, kind of. Not like big, but like a chest of sex toys. Were they vintage, or did they still plug into the wall, or were they battery?

02:04:21 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 4:

You pull start?

02:04:23 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, it wasn't necessarily like toy toys. It was, like, wearable things and, like, clothes. It was all sorts of crazy things.

02:04:34 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 1:

They don't have an X-rated section at the Goodwill or Salvation Army, do they?

02:04:39 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 2:

Not that I can remember. Yeah, I don't think so. You should. But it's not on the list. At the place where I drop off, it's not on the list of things they don't take.

02:04:46 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 1:

Really? It's not. What are some of the things that you remember that were on that list?

02:04:51 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Car seats, certain electronics. I can't remember what else is on there They won't take undergarments, will they?

02:04:59 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so no because i think that i tried to bring in uh under armor shorts and they thought they were

02:05:05 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 6:

underwear but they were just shorts erica what's up yes so i have five sisters and one of my sisters gave my uh one of my nephews a nightstand and she caught everybody frantic because she's like oh my god i gave him the nightstand and i think there's a toy in it We all had to try to rush And retrieve her Sex toy My nephew found it

02:05:35 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 5:

And were they successful

02:05:36 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 6:

It was just It was one of the little ones She thought that it was something bigger But they ended up Finding it but it was like You guys you all know I'll just say it was more of a bullet Than a

02:05:51 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine by the way known what it was. Could you imagine if you got your aunt or your aunt's sex

02:05:59 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 5:

toy? Oh, I'd be

02:06:01 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 6:

disgusted. I'd be absolutely disgusted.

02:06:04 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 1:

That would be a tough one

02:06:05 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 5:

to look at her Christmas. It'd be the next white elephant gift for the family Christmas party.

02:06:09 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Rose?

02:06:11 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hey.

02:06:13 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 7:

So I was just commenting on your guys' Goodwill and Salvation Army comment. I had actually went to Arizona a few months ago, and they have, like, very selective Goodwill out there they only have two of them in like their hometown and we went to this this certain one on the strip that it's that it's in and this person had donated their bag and i guess they had anywhere from 10 to 9 000 in it so they ended up having to call the owner back to come get the first to retreat the money and the person was like i had no idea i had 10 000 in there and i was like that's a big deal just you know just to give away to donate that is wild and it's nice that they

02:06:49 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 1:

didn't see it yet because if they saw it you know that there's no way they're getting that money

02:06:54 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 7:

back and that's exactly what i thought i was like that's god's blessing right there telling you hey your money that you got gave away here you go here's the back so it was a good it was a good

02:07:04 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 2:

overall outcome so that was great yeah this makes me one of my wife's having me donate a bunch of stuff because she's like in full nesting mode right now so i went out to like uh that place called uptown cheapskate it makes me want to go out there again and just start digging through

02:07:16 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 1:

pockets people do that that's a great idea yeah i'm telling you guys that the people that work at that place probably walk away with all the the good stuff you know because they're probably looking at it as an opportunity to you know they're not making that much money hey kp is going to be out today along with channel 955's sean strife they're going to be out for the world's largest tigers opening day party uh that starts uh not that long from now actually a little over an hour from now right uh happening uh and where exactly is it it is the madison avenue

02:07:55 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 8:

festival ground so there's going to be a ton of people you're not going to miss it

02:07:59 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 1:

uh get out there and party if you're going to be heading downtown or maybe you already are downtown go see uh kp and say hello i also just got a text message i was just telling shannon just a second ago um my really good friends from uh tower construction they actually just did that and are currently doing the remodel on lucido fine jewelry over in birmingham it is gorgeous it's their boutique uh like gorgeous new unbelievable they redid the whole store crazy jewelry store like i'm gonna tell you there's something it's it's like something out of uh It's a mix between Beverly Hills and a spaceship. I don't know. It's like crazy.

02:08:39 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Can I just say this really quick? If you're getting married or you're thinking about getting engaged, they have a bridal bar there.

02:08:43 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:08:44 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 5:

At Lucido in Birmingham. And so you can go in and they have like tons and tons of different diamonds and bands. Unbelievable. And sizes. And you can like sit and mix and match and play. And it's so much fun. Anyway.

02:08:56 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, I just got a text just a moment ago from Janet. and she and Jason, who are from Tower Construction, and they did that remodel. You can go see that Lucido Fine Jewelry work that they've done. They have tickets to the Tigers game, and the person that they invited to go with them to the game couldn't go. They actually canceled at the last minute, and they said that they wanted to give it away to a Mojo in the Morning listener, preferably maybe somebody that has never taken their kid to a game, somebody like that that wants to go, or anybody that's a hardcore Tigers fan. So we're going to give away those before the end of the show.

02:09:33 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 5:

Love that.

02:09:33 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 1:

So between now and 10.30, so we're going to be here for a little bit. And a huge thank you to Janet and Jason for doing that, and thank you to Tower of Construction.

02:09:43 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:51 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 1:

So, Alexis, you think your boyfriend cheated while he was on spring break?

02:09:56 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I mean, everyone.

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 3:

I do, yeah. It just seems like everyone on that trip is, like, being weird to me.

02:10:06 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 1:

Now, you didn't spring break with him, and also explain this. So he goes to school, and you don't go with him, but who did he go on spring break with?

02:10:16 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he went with his fraternity brothers.

02:10:19 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:10:19 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 3:

So, like, yeah, you would expect, like, a lot of, like, pictures and stuff, but, like, he wasn't in any of them.

02:10:28 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 2:

So you had to have asked him about that, and what was his response?

02:10:35 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 3:

He just said he was, like, taking the photos and that he wanted to, like, live in the moment, which I don't – that's not really him. He's usually, like, the life of the party, so I don't really get that.

02:10:47 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 2:

And if you're the one taking the photos, you're still not living in the moment because you're taking the photos.

02:10:51 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 3:

Like, you're getting – and they're, like, intimate.

02:10:55 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

What you should do is you should say, hey, let me look at your phone because I want to see if you're the one taking those photos. But that's something that we'll have to explore after we make a phone call to him. Talk about the friends acting differently with you. You feel like they're acting differently because they know something that he did?

02:11:18 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, it just seems weird. You know what I mean? It seems like they're covering up for him and I don't get it.

02:11:26 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hang on the phone for one second. We're going to make a phone call. We're calling up Mark. We're going to see where he will send a dozen free roses. We want them to go to Alexis. It's the War of the Roses. Mute your phone so he doesn't hear that there's something else on the phone. Okay?

02:11:42 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:11:55 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 2:

02:13:31 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And I'm actually going to start a little file for you just so hopefully we'll make it easier when you order from us in the future. What is Haley's relationship to you?

02:13:42 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 3:

Why do you need that?

02:13:45 - 02:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Because, like I said, we're going to start a file for you so it'll just make the process of checking out a little bit faster the next time that you order flowers from us the information doesn't go anywhere except on your account okay

02:13:57 - 02:14:05 | Speaker 3:

all right can we do it without that i'm sorry can we do it without making a file in case i

02:14:05 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 2:

02:14:35 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 3:

for your baby

02:14:39 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

okay that's all you wanted to say you can make it longer than that if you want you know okay and uh mark i have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that i guess okay mark

02:15:00 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 1:

going to jump on and just grab the phone number from you. So I'm going to get that from you. Is that okay? All right. Who are you? We work for the same company from rosesbloom.com. So I'm just going to grab the phone number of Haley and then we will send her the message. Okay. All right. Do you have the phone number handy? I mean, I can get it. Can you look for it right now? And then we'll do that.

02:15:31 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:15:33 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 1:

Let me know when you have it.

02:15:38 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I got it.

02:15:40 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay. What is it?

02:15:42 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 4:

419.

02:15:44 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 1:

All right. Okay. Okay. Perfect. Mark, I also need to let you know one more quick thing before I let you go, that while we have been talking to you and you've been sending these flowers off, that your girlfriend, Alexis, has been listening in to this phone call and heard every word that you just said. How? How is she?

02:16:20 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Like, how is she listening to, like, what are you talking about?

02:16:24 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 1:

Alexis is on the phone with us right now. This is the Mojo in the Morning show. And we were doing the War of the Roses. And she just heard you send flowers to someone other than her.

02:16:38 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Who the f*** is she? Like, who is she?

02:16:43 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. So you guys, like, just trapped me in a phone call or some s***?

02:16:49 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but that doesn't matter.

02:16:50 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 4:

Like, how the f*** is this okay?

02:16:53 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 3:

02:17:05 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 3:

We have her phone number And we can try to call it right now Okay

02:17:18 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 3:

02:17:20 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 1:

And see if we can get him back on the phone with us

02:17:24 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:17:26 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 3:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:28 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:36 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 1:

Alexis is on the phone with us right now. This is the Mojo in the Morning show. And we were doing the War of the Roses. And she just heard you send flowers to someone other than her.

02:17:48 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Who the f*** is she? Like, who is she?

02:17:51 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, so you guys, like, just trapped me in a phone call or some s***?

02:17:59 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but that doesn't matter.

02:17:59 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 4:

Like, how the f*** is this okay?

02:18:03 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 3:

How the f*** is this okay?

02:18:09 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 1:

Alexis, hold on. We're trying to get a hold of Mark, but we're going to try to get Haley on the phone, okay?

02:18:20 - 02:18:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system. Two.

02:18:43 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. Does that mean that she bumped us? Yeah. So he's probably contacted

02:18:52 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 4:

I think she's bumping us

02:18:55 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 1:

She bumped us He quite possibly could have Already called I want you to do us a favor I want you to hang on here for one second We're going to try to get him back

02:19:07 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay

02:19:09 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 1:

Keep trying him please 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 throw this out there to uh to you if uh you ever caught a cheater was the person caught similar to this one where all the people around him started acting differently towards you i'd love to know if that was something that uh has ever happened to you because i wonder how that would be like if you knew that your friend's cheating on you know their significant other how would you act around you know that person how would you be able to to be around them um is that seems like that would be such a dead giveaway yeah total uh eight eight four four mojo live 844-665-6548-844-665-6548-844-MOJO-LIVE is the telephone number. Running into a little bit of a snag getting him on. Now Alexis's phone just goes right, or not Alexis, Haley or whatever her name was. Her phone is now going right to voicemail. So, I don't know, she just completely shut it off. And would he have enough time to be able to call her and tell her that?

02:20:40 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 6:

Or just send her a text and say, don't enter your phone.

02:20:42 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the thing I always wonder about sometimes whenever we do the War of the Roses is trying to be able to, and that's why we started doing the whole thing where it's like we ask for the phone numbers and do all that stuff. we almost need to have somebody calling them right like while we're doing it somebody else goes in the to the other room on the phone system and calls them and then we get that other person on the phone and then confront them yeah we gotta try that uh annette

02:21:10 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 3:

so that actually happened to me um i was married and i you know i was working and one of the girls that worked with me was cheating with my husband and every day that i would go to work everybody would look at me you know like real stupid they would laugh at me because they knew that she knew that i was married and she was cheating with my husband how did she treat you how did she act around you um she she would just kind of look at me like like snide looking um and it was ironic because the days that my husband supposedly went to work she didn't come to work Oh, my God. And, yeah, and when it all came out, it was real ugly because somebody got violent.

02:22:00 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, when you say somebody.

02:22:01 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 6:

Now we need the story. Who's somebody? What's the story? Somebody was me.

02:22:07 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 5:

Somebody threw hands. Why did nobody tell you?

02:22:14 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 3:

I guess because I was kind of like the new person there, and she had been there for a while, and I was older than her. So, you know how, like, younger people are. They think it's kind of, oh, yeah, she's cheating, you know, on her husband. So, they think it's cute. But when I attacked her, they didn't think it was cute after that.

02:22:34 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. It went from cute to violent. F around and find out. F around and find out. I need to be friends with you, Annette. Is there any way that we can become best friends? Hey. Oh, Annette, call us more often, okay? All the time. I get y'all all the time. All right. We love you.

02:22:56 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 5:

I'm alias Kim.

02:22:57 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wait a second. I love you. Okay. Wait a second. You actually call with an alias number or an alias name?

02:23:03 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm alias Kim.

02:23:04 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:23:05 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I'm alias Kim.

02:23:07 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Well, now you've got to pick another name. All right. Yeah, now you just gave it away, but you call more often then. Yeah, I'll pick another name. Love you. That's great. Alias Kim. Michelle, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:23:20 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 4:

Yes. My husband was cheating. Everybody he worked with, because we were married for a long time, wouldn't even look me in the face because he didn't hide it from him at all.

02:23:28 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 6:

Wow. And was that how you knew, or was there something else that tipped you off?

02:23:34 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 4:

That's what got me thinking that way. He was a firefighter, so, I mean, they're very close-knit people. Uh-huh.

02:23:43 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 1:

And you were around them a lot?

02:23:47 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yes.

02:23:48 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Wow.

02:23:50 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 4:

And when they stopped, they wouldn't make eye contact or anything with me. I kind of knew something was right.

02:23:56 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it makes me wonder, and I hate that my mind wanders in this direction, but if they all knew and your husband was just doing it right out in the open, if some of the other ones were doing the same thing and it was just a pact among them that we weren't, you know, you don't tell if I don't tell. Good point.

02:24:14 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's a lot of them that aren't with the same wife they started with at the department. Yeah, yeah.

02:24:20 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

man thank you for the call uh cassie hi hey what's going on good morning i got an update by the way i got to tell you guys in a second i've been like getting notes handed to me and stuff you guys are going to crap yourself in a second here about this what's going on um i was just

02:24:37 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

trying to say i don't care if you're my friend and you're cheating on your spouse significant other we could have been best friends for 10 years i'm telling yourself like there's no reason for anyone to keep that secret have you ever been in that situation thankfully no um but cheating is a biggest no there is so

02:25:00 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 4:

I will tell them, like I promise.

02:25:02 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so to you, there is no friendship that is strong enough for you not to go to that person's spouse and say, my friend is cheating on you.

02:25:13 - 02:25:14 | Unknown:

Absolutely.

02:25:14 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 1:

Good for you. You know what? Your conscience will always be clear.

02:25:19 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely. Like, cheating. If you're going to change it, break up with the person.

02:25:25 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Want to hear the update, by the way?

02:25:28 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:25:28 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 1:

You ready for this one? The note that was handed to me just a second ago is Mark will not go on the air with us and feels like he's been violated and said that our bosses will find out later how upset he is. and he says if you listen back to the message that he left his message was to tell a friend that he's congratulating them for a baby that they actually oh now come on that's what he says so his message to to this girl what was the name of the girl again why did i uh haley so the message to Haley was, hold on, this is because we asked them to leave their voice message.

02:26:18 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 2:

For your baby. Oh.

02:26:22 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 1:

That's what he was saying. Wait. So he said, for your baby. Hold on.

02:26:29 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 3:

I thought

02:26:30 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 1:

he was saying, for you baby. For your, yeah, for your baby. I don't know. So he says that that was what he said. Or was that, or Or was that a miss speaking on his part? Can I hear it again?

02:26:48 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 2:

For your baby.

02:26:51 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 5:

He says your.

02:26:52 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I agree.

02:26:54 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 5:

He says your. Come on.

02:26:57 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 1:

So he says it's a complete mischaracterization that is going on here right now. They wrote a bunch of stuff down here for me. but Alexis is also on hold and doesn't believe it and we're going to get her back on the phone with us right now. Thoughts on that? 844 Mojo Live. Ben wants to tell us. Ben, you there? Yeah. Hey. Were you the cheater? No. No. Okay. I thought you said you got caught cheating. I might call screenboard here. No. What's the story?

02:27:30 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 2:

To add on to what the other caller was saying they were talking about how And if their friend got cheated on, they would tell him and such. So I was in a relationship for two years, and my ex and her cousin were, like, really close. Like, they were basically siblings. And he ended up telling me that she was cheating on me for, like, three months. And he ended up, like, took him for so long to tell me because it's, like, his sister, basically.

02:28:00 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So that kind of proves that there are people out there that will break that friendship or family bond and tell another person if they are being cheated on. You know what? I guess there are some good people in this world. What's going on, Chris? How you doing?

02:28:19 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I just wanted to say that he didn't want to specify their relationship status, you know, and so I thought that was weird.

02:28:26 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was very strange about that.

02:28:28 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 1:

And then what did he say? He said he didn't want to actually keep that person's name in his profile because he wanted to be able to send flowers to somebody else, too.

02:28:34 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 4:

Right, right. Yeah, if it was for a baby, he could have just said, like, oh, that's my good friend. I just had a baby, but he didn't want to say that.

02:28:41 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 3:

All right, so play devil's advocate here. If a random company is calling you out, are you really going to give all of that information, or are you just going to say, I'm not telling you?

02:28:49 - 02:28:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Chris, what would you do?

02:28:52 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 4:

I would probably, if I didn't have anything to hide, you know, I would say what I need to say.

02:28:56 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Lindy, what's going on? Mojo in the morning.

02:28:59 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 3:

hi this is lindy i was just calling to say how many men actually send

02:29:03 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 5:

a woman flowers for having a baby right especially at this age yeah i mean very thoughtful if he really was but it's thoughtful but most i don't believe it yeah no way i i gotta be honest with

02:29:17 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 1:

you a texter just said something interesting he misspoke and knew he did but knew it was being recorded and didn't want to re-record it that's what uh a texter said this guy's a cheater he

02:29:28 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 3:

was trying to say for you baby i think so too and he was just asking too many questions he was suspicious the whole time of the question yeah how he was responding so how about even deeper

02:29:40 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 4:

than that desiree what do you think i think maybe he was speaking in disguise and what if this was

02:29:46 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 3:

his baby yeah plot twist yeah there's a couple people saying that and i just feel like it's

02:29:54 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 4:

It's unusual for a guy with a woman to spend flowers to a co-worker.

02:30:00 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 2:

had a new baby right right and people are also texting if he's so innocent he wouldn't have made such a big deal about feeling violated or be mad enough to hang up the phone yeah and remember i

02:30:10 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 4:

mean not to say that you're a college student you're not you know intelligent but this is a these are college you know people here so we're talking about there this this is a guy who went away on spring break with his fraternity brothers and you know um so it's a who knows you know what the story is did college would my son who's in college would he send flowers to somebody for a baby no i mean the last thing in the world he'd be thinking about you know beer you know what i mean or or i don't know i feel like jacob would i don't know weed it would be he'd send weed to them yeah is there a way i can send edibles to you you're home for the world famous war of the

02:30:53 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 3:

roses it's mojo in the morning mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 so right after shannon's

02:30:59 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 4:

dirty on the 30 we'll give you an opportunity so stick around what's going on in this hour's

02:31:02 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 2:

dirty on the 30 do we think that reese witherspoon and tom brady would be a good couple no they'd be a cute couple but i don't know that they would be a good couple i think reese witherspoon needs

02:31:13 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 4:

to date somebody more sophisticated than Tom Brady.

02:31:16 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 2:

Right. Harry Styles.

02:31:18 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

She needs to go through a Pete Davidson face, I think, and then somebody sophisticated.

02:31:22 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. She runs every relationship. She, to me, is like the strong, bold, like she's not submissive.

02:31:30 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, you're right about that. Well, that was the rumor, by the way, that was going around yesterday. And their reps really quick shot it down. They both issued a statement to people to clear the air. Both parties denying that the pair are dating. In fact, they told People Magazine that Reese and Tom have never even actually met. So how could they be dating?

02:31:51 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 4:

I would like to see Tom Brady, and I know this is going to be bad because I'm a huge fan of his, and I'm not a huge fan of hers, be with, like, Kim Kardashian. I want him to just, like, blow it out and be with a huge, like, influencing, like, yeah, just honestly, just for the fun of being able to talk about the train wreck of those two together.

02:32:12 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 3:

Like his Pete Davidson face. He needs the girl version of Pete Davidson face.

02:32:15 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, who is the female that is the Pete Davidson of that?

02:32:18 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Emily Ratajkowski?

02:32:21 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Is that? She's now Pete Davidson?

02:32:23 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 2:

No, no. I'm just saying she's dating hardcore right now.

02:32:27 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but who's...

02:32:28 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 2:

But she's not Pete Davidson. Well, because you get her allure. But I get Pete Davidson's allure to her, too. Yeah. I don't know. I have to think about that for a second. Lyrics for two songs from The Little Mermaid are getting changed for the upcoming live-action remake. To emphasize consent and female empowerment, composer Ellen Menken was asked by Vanity Fair yesterday if any changes were made to any of the music from the 1989 animated original version, and he said, yeah, Kiss the Girl got changed. This is obviously the original. I love this song. I do think it's my favorite song from the movie, actually, but he said that people have gotten very sensitive about the idea that Prince Eric was forcing himself on Ariel in that canoe. So they changed the lyrics to reflect consent.

02:33:17 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 3:

Why do we read into things like this? There's a warning now on Disney Plus, if you watch Aladdin, that they, instead of pulling the content, they've decided to keep it up, but they want, and there's a whole warning in front of it.

02:33:27 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 2:

About what specifically?

02:33:29 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 3:

I would have to go back and look at it, but basically the same thing that's happening with The Little Mermaid, that times are different, and they didn't want to pull the content, so instead they're just giving you this warning.

02:33:39 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it's to teach little kids the importance of this?

02:33:43 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah, that might, you know what, then maybe they do a lesson or something in it.

02:33:47 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 1:

You ask to kiss the girl?

02:33:48 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:33:49 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 2:

And I think that's what the lyrics are going to probably reflect. It's really not that big of a change, and I think it's important.

02:33:56 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 4:

But what's the new lyric going to be?

02:33:58 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 2:

They didn't say. They didn't say the new lyrics for that one or for Poor Unfortunate Souls, which is sung by Ursula.

02:34:03 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 1:

They don't like a lot of blabber. What's wrong with Poor Unfortunate Souls? They talk negatively about women, though.

02:34:10 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and how women shouldn't speak out of turn. So they're going to change that.

02:34:19 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 1:

Great song. Is it Melissa McCarthy who's doing Ursula?

02:34:27 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yeah, that's going to be amazing. It's going to be so good. Real quick, Khloe Kardashian going to be a guest on the Jennifer Hudson show a little bit later on today, Spilling a little secret about her baby boy's name She said that while she doesn't want to make the big announcement Just yet, they're still kind of filling out the name She will reveal today that the little guy's name starts with a T Just like his sister, True, and his daddy, Tristan Thompson That's all we're getting Oh, come on Stop Actor Jeremy Renner writing down some final words for his family on his

02:35:00 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 4:

iphone after his tragic snowplow accident believing he might actually die from his injuries this is from part of the interview he does today with abc's diane sawyer if i was there

02:35:09 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 2:

on my own that would have been a horrible way to die and surely i would have surely but i wasn't alone it was my nephew sweet alex and the rest of the calvary king here's the part

02:35:28 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 4:

where he talks about writing those final words.

02:35:30 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 2:

So I'm writing down notes on my phone, the last words to my family.

02:35:41 - 02:35:41 | Unknown:

Sorry.

02:35:44 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 4:

Obviously, he gets very, very emotional in the interview. He is well on his road to recovery, by the way.

02:35:49 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 5:

Those shows, by the way, have the best production music ever. Don't they? They do. So good.

02:35:54 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And lastly, Diddy sampled Sting's 1983 single, Every Breath You Take, for this song. I'll be missing you. Well, there's a little bit of controversy here. So a couple of years ago, Sting sat down for an interview with our sister show, The Breakfast Club, and was talking about how much Diddy has to pay him in royalties to sample Every Breath You Take for this song.

02:36:22 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 1:

Is it true that Diddy has to pay you two grand a day because he didn't ask permission to sample every breath you take? Yeah. Wow. For the rest of his life. Wow. Oh, my God. No, I'm saying. But Diddy asked you for permission? Yes, he did. After the fact. Yes, he did.

02:36:38 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 4:

So, I don't know why this interview has resurfaced, but it has. And so, you might have seen Diddy tweeting yesterday. He actually pays $5,000 a day in royalties to Sting. because of this song. $5,000 a day? That's 1.8 a year. That's what he said. No way.

02:37:00 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 1:

No way.

02:37:01 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. In that Breakfast Club interview, Sting shares that the producer asked for permission to sample the song only after it had been released. And he said it's fine now. They're friends over it now, but probably because he's making a lot of money over it. For all of today's Dirty, Check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:37:43 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 1:

Those reviews weren't bad, considering what I've read on social media and bathroom walls about the show. This is Mojo in the morning.

02:37:51 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 5:

Too soon. Too soon. That felt real. That wouldn't hit me in the core of my soul. Hey, we got Tiger tickets. We're going to do those. Give us like five minutes, okay? So five minutes. So, birthday party at the house tonight? Oh, yeah. Lucy's turning nine this weekend. Whoa, happy birthday to Lucy.

02:38:29 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 1:

Scott Mc's birthday today. Is it?

02:38:31 - 02:38:31 | Unknown:

Hey.

02:38:31 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 5:

Why are you trying to overshadow Lucy's birthday with Scott Mc? No, that is huge. This is unbelievable.

02:38:37 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 4:

That is huge. Today's not even really Lucy's birthday. Like I said, it's Saturday. We're just having a little party. Happy birthday, Scott Mc. No, take it back right now.

02:38:44 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 5:

It's about Lucy. You know what it is? I know what you're doing. When somebody is born on a day, they always tell you what celebrities are born on that same day.

02:38:52 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 1:

I did feel like it was more like twinning.

02:38:54 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 5:

He gets Paul Rudd's birthday today.

02:38:56 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 4:

Paul Rudd. He shares a good birthday.

02:38:59 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 5:

All right, so Lucy's birthday, and you're having a sleepover party? No.

02:39:05 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, so they have no school tomorrow because of Good Friday. Lucy's turning nine. We don't do sleepovers yet, And so we're having what the third graders call a late over where they're coming over in their pajamas and they're going to stay till like 10 o'clock tonight. But I please say a prayer for me. I'm going to have 10 little girls at my house.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 3:

Just me. Wait, wait.

02:39:32 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 5:

So a late over meaning you don't want them to. So nobody's going to stay night because of are all the parents like that where they they're not ready for their kids to be at some other.

02:39:43 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 4:

I don't know that's that's just us okay that's Andrew my my ex-husband and I are that's kind of our rule that we're sticking to for right now I'm sure that will change maybe it's so funny

02:39:53 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

as she gets older each kid in our case was a completely different one really yeah for some reason Joe

02:40:00 - 02:40:22 | Speaker 3:

We could let stay over at anybody's house. We were fine with it. Jacob and Luke, we got very protective and like that. We're not like, we didn't enjoy like them staying over at other people's houses. Yeah. And it wasn't necessarily that we just didn't trust the people because we knew them and they were friends and stuff. But it's like nothing good comes of it. And then they come home and they're so tired when they come home. Yeah. Because they stay up all night.

02:40:22 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 1:

It was an interesting conversation for Andrew and I to have because he wasn't allowed to do sleepovers when he was little but i slept over and had people sleep over all the time

02:40:30 - 02:40:59 | Speaker 3:

and look how you turned out and look how he turned out i mean what does that mean oh you know i mean look it's so look it i mean you still like him better than me i know i know i'm just it's it's wild how the parenting kind of uh resembles whatever the parenting is of you as you were done as a child but in you guys your guys's case because in chelsea in in our case I think that I didn't never got invited over to anybody's house to sleep over and in her case

02:40:59 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 4:

she would stay over at her friend's houses all the time yeah yeah so what age are you thinking you're gonna because Allie and I have this conversation all the time what age do you think

02:41:07 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 1:

you will start having sleepovers um I don't know and quite honestly I I have such bad anxiety as it is and so I don't know that that I will ever let her spend the night at somebody else's house I'm cool with having people at my house. That makes me feel a little bit better. But if Andrew had his way, there would be no sleepovers ever, ever anywhere. He's a little more of a stickler on it.

02:41:30 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 3:

Really? What's wrong with the people staying at your place?

02:41:33 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm saying I would.

02:41:35 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 3:

So would he be opposed to you having Lucy's friends come over?

02:41:38 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, I see now it's two different households. I don't know. This is one of those discussions like, you know, when you are dealing with two households and a divorced family, that will eventually have to happen. But tonight it's going to be a spa party. So I'll be painting nails and doing face masks and foot masks. You're going to be busy. I am going to be so busy. Somebody FaceTime me, please, and save me. And it just brought me back to, I used to get so excited for birthday parties when my mom would like, we would go to Frank's Nursery and Crafts and buy all the puffy paint. My friends would come over and we would puffy paint shirts and hats and socks. And it was like the best night ever.

02:42:14 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 3:

It's funny when you started saying that about Frank's Nursery and Crafts. Do you remember that place? Yeah, I do.

02:42:18 - 02:42:19 | Speaker 1:

Before Michael's.

02:42:19 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was the place to go to. When you first said that, I'm thinking, what were you getting there at Frank's Nursery and Craft? Were you getting plants to plant at the house? You could get both. Yeah, make the kids at the sleepover do your landscaping for you. If that would be the case, Andrew would be into it. Put them to work. Yeah, make them come to work. Go ahead.

02:42:46 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 2:

I think my dad wanted me to go to sleepovers. I think he wanted a break. But I was the kid who I never stayed the night anywhere until college. Yeah. Like, I would try and called him every time at 11 o'clock. And I, can you come and get me, please? Oh, yeah.

02:43:03 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 3:

You know why I hate when my kids are at another person's house and they're doing that? I can't drink at home. Because I always have this fear that I'm going to have to pick them up in the middle of the night.

02:43:12 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I didn't think about that.

02:43:14 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 3:

So I can't get drunk. Like, I have to be sober, you know, dad.

02:43:17 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 1:

So you get drunk if you're handling someone else's children at your house.

02:43:21 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, bring them over to my house. I'll just get passed out drunk. I was making sure that that was clear. No, no, no, even for sleepover. But maybe, right? I don't know. Actually, I love when the kids would sleep over at the house because the next morning it was always the biggest breakfast ever that we were going to get. You know, I would go to Dunkin' and, you know, the bagel place by our house and get a bunch of stuff and make pancakes and things. So Lucy's going to have friends over It's a spa night You're going to do nails

02:43:48 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 1:

Foot masks, face masks They're going to watch a movie I don't know Whatever these little girls want to do

02:43:57 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 3:

It'll be so fun But once that time goes off At what time is it? 9.30

02:44:02 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god, that's early

02:44:08 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 3:

What time are they coming? Please tell me they're coming at noon today

02:44:11 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 1:

They're coming at 6.30.

02:44:13 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so a three-hour party? By myself.

02:44:16 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 1:

Hello. That's a lot.

02:44:17 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Ordered a little Jets pizza with extra range. We are getting Jets pizza.

02:44:21 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 1:

That was requested. And a big donut cake from the donut cutter. Okay. That's what she wanted. That's a cool party.

02:44:27 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 3:

That's a cool party. My coolest party ever was when my friend Steve Gorski had everybody sleep over at his house, and we all got to play his new Nintendo 64, or whatever the game was at the time. It wasn't 64.

02:44:39 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 4:

Everybody had that friend who had the video games We called him the rich friend But he always had the video games and the nice shoes

02:44:46 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 3:

And I didn't stay I didn't go to bed and sleep Because I was a bed wetter So I stayed up all night and watched everybody sleep Because I was too afraid to fall asleep I know

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Did they know you were a bed wetter?

02:45:00 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 2:

No, they did not know I was a bed wetter. But let me tell you this, and I talked about this before on the show. I used to pack the same exact clothes I was wearing to go to bed in a bag. Because if I wet the bed in the middle of the night or wet the floor, I would always try to say, I like to sleep on the floor. And I would bring a hefty bag, green bag in there, and I would put it around my waist. You did not. I swear to you.

02:45:23 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 4:

In your sleeping bag?

02:45:24 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 2:

In my sleeping bag. Yeah. And if I wet the bed Which I did at a couple of sleepovers I'd quickly change my clothes in the morning To the clothes I was wearing So nobody knew that I had

02:45:34 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 4:

I mean actually that's a very smart idea But that still makes me so sad That you had to like plan that

02:45:39 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think I wasn't really invited over To a lot of sleepovers You know

02:45:43 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 4:

You smelled like pee

02:45:44 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 2:

I had the pee smell Maybe Andrew's right

02:45:48 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 3:

02:47:57 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

02:47:59 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

We were talking about Lucy's big birthday party tonight. And what is the term that you used again? It's a sleep, what is it?

02:48:06 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 4:

A late over, not a sleepover.

02:48:09 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 2:

I like that.

02:48:10 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:48:10 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 2:

You know what? We never thought of fun things like that. So when I was parents of the little guys, you know, we just said, get the hell out of my house or you're not staying over like we didn't come up with names and things like

02:48:21 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 4:

you moms and dads nowadays i was told that this is what it's called this is what it's called

02:48:26 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 2:

it's called get off my lawn i i remember joey uh one time having a sleepover and they destroyed our basement so bad that everybody in our house was like grounded like we were so upset yeah because sometimes you get sleepovers and you're like what in the world man you guys do this to your own homes where they you know just go crazy um we were talking about that and then i talked about how i was a bedwetter uh blake are you there yeah blake said he's got a story for us

02:48:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

what's that blake so um i used to be a prolific bedwetter um i had to wear like the pull-ups which was just glorified diapers yeah uh so in third grade i got invited to a birthday party um and you know as soon as that happened the gear started turning like how i was going to get through this birthday party without a wearing a pull-up and a b getting caught as a bedwetter um so my mom let his mom know which was embarrassing um but my plan that night was similar to you i he had a pool so i put on my bathing suit in my sleeping bag slept on the floor ended up you know peeing the bed so i woke up the next morning and i'm in my bathing suit everyone else has just woken up to his dad's making pancakes and stuff for us and my first thing was hey who wants to go swimming oh that was smart they're all they're all eating breakfast and i ran out jumped in the pool and i was you know swimming washing off the pee and

02:50:00 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 2:

That was my sleepover experience.

02:50:03 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 1:

That would have been brilliant if I could have pulled something like that up.

02:50:05 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 4:

That was so smart.

02:50:07 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 1:

A little morning swim. Who doesn't want to have one?

02:50:11 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 4:

And then you just smell like chlorine, not pee.

02:50:13 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:50:15 - 02:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Which I don't know if they knew or not. No one told me. I thought I was so smooth.

02:50:20 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 1:

Hey, question for you, because as a person that was a bedwetter when you were younger and stuff, what was it, do you think? Do you think that you were just a real sound sleeper? Because that's what Chelsea thinks, because now I can sleep through anything.

02:50:36 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, 100%. I am the deepest sleeper ever. I would have dreams where I would feel like I'm peeing in the dream, and I would wake up, and I'd be peeing in real life.

02:50:46 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. That's how I was. I was honestly such a deep sleeper, and I still am because of that. So hang on the phone. Actually, no, you don't hang on the phone. I don't know why I say that. I think I'm giving you a contest. Hold on the phone, and I'm going to get you some pull-ups here. Hey, congratulations. You won pull-ups, courtesy of. You know, pull-ups were one of those things where, to me, as a kid, everybody knew you had them because you had puffy pants. Like, you know what I mean? Like, your pants were always kind of like you looked like you were wearing, you know, puffy pants. They needed to make those things a little bit. A little slimmer. Slimmer for you, yeah. Let me give a word out here to you.

02:51:25 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning has a shot for you to win $1,000.

02:51:27 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 1:

We're going to check in with KP in a little bit, who's going to be at opening day for the big broadcast, the biggest opening day party. So we'll have that for you. If you go head downtown, you can go check that out. We talked about that at the Madison Avenue Fairgrounds, I believe is where it is. I think that that's what it's called. Madison Avenue Festival. Festival Grounds. Oh, you're still here. We're not checking in with you.

02:52:21 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 5:

You're already here. Aren't you supposed to be there? Hold on. No, I'm supposed to be there until noon. Oh, so what time do you get there at? I'm going to be there at noon. Oh, you get there at noon. I also got to finish producing your show, Mojo.

02:52:31 - 02:52:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so you go noon until, and you'll be there during the game. Until 3.

02:52:35 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 5:

I won't be at the game, but I will be there from noon to 3. Oh, okay.

02:52:39 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 1:

All right, and then Sean Strife from Channel 955 will be broadcasting the show from there.

02:52:44 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:52:44 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, I want to throw out another plug for the Mojo in the Morning Hackers and Whackers golf tournament. that we're doing it's not really a tournament as much as it is just honestly we're all going to go to top golf and raise money to help out the kids from pontiac and the sheriff pal program uh my friend lauren is on the phone with us right now and hey lauren you there yes good morning everyone good morning do we have uh spots for for golfers like if somebody wants to golf on 420 which is you know, going to be a celebratory day anyway on that Thursday?

02:53:21 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we do have some days still available and individual golfing tickets. If you just want to come and have fun, that's also an opportunity as well.

02:53:29 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 4:

So people keep asking me, do they need to buy a ticket in advance or can they just come and hang out that day to Topgolf?

02:53:35 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 3:

As much as possible, we'd like to drive people to purchase tickets in advance so we get our most accurate. Okay. Okay.

02:53:42 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 1:

So sheriffpal.com, right, for that?

02:53:45 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 3:

Yep, click on the events tab, and that will pull up. You can also reach out to sheriffpal at gmail.com for any additional information.

02:53:53 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 1:

Lauren, so if somebody comes as an individual or with another person, and they don't necessarily have enough people to fill up a whole bay, what does that cost?

02:54:04 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 3:

An individual ticket without golf is $100. An individual ticket with golf is $150.

02:54:12 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 1:

And remember, the money's going.

02:54:14 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 3:

Donation.

02:54:14 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the money is going to the Sheriff Powell program. And will you tell the listeners about what Powell program does?

02:54:22 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So at Oakland County Sheriff Powell, we're a police athletic league, and we strongly believe in the power and intangible benefits of high-quality sports. And we want to ensure every child in our community has access to these opportunities. So we offer free sports and recreation and other enrichment programming to kids in Pontiac and the surrounding communities. So baseball, cheer, track, basketball, lacrosse, you name it, we do it.

02:54:50 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 1:

And I have to tell the positive of this because I've talked to a number of Pontiac residents that said it's night and day difference what the PAL program and the Sheriff's Department. has done for Pontiac that it's given the kids a chance to not have to drive to like three communities over to be able to play a sport which I mean that's ridiculous because many of the families that live there don't have the means in the transportation to be able to do that and then also it's given them the the with the the sheriff's department it's given the kids a focus that hey you know what these uh great you know men and women who are sheriffs in uniform aren't to be people you fear. They are to be people that you know are going to be there to protect you and protect your family. There's such a positive vibe going on there in that town. Sheriffpal.com. Bays, what does a bay cost? If somebody wants to buy an entire bay, like for, say, their office, wants to donate to Sheriff Pal or something.

02:55:50 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, a full bay accommodates six golfers, and that is $800. So that's really your best deal. And it is a family-friendly event. Get your office together. Get your book club together. Get your summer golf league together.

02:56:04 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 1:

And Topgolf is great. It's so fun.

02:56:06 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 4:

It's so fun. And, again, coming from someone who's not a golfer, it's so fun.

02:56:10 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 1:

And we will be there. So we will all be there to enjoy with you, and we want you to be part of it. Lauren, thank you so much. I appreciate you.

02:56:17 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, thank you for your continued support. You're amazing.

02:56:19 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 1:

We love you. I love those kids, man. I've met so many great kids over the years that have been part of Sheriff Powell. And these kids, it really, they are, I wish, maybe we got to get before 420, let's get them, get some of the great, you know, these great kids, they're better speakers than I am, to come on the air and talk about what it does for them, okay?

02:56:41 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay, yeah, we'd love to do that.

02:56:42 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Lauren. So this is considered to be the holiest week of the year, if you are a Catholic or a Christian, because it's Easter week. Today is Holy Thursday. Tomorrow's Good Friday. Saturday is Saturday. I forget what it is. What is it? I don't know. It's some Saturday. And then Sunday is Easter. You know, it's the, you know, the Lord is risen and stuff. Well, you know, church is a big thing to, you know, many of us, but probably no bigger than Lydia. Lydia is in a Bible study. She goes to church a lot. Lydia is who answers your phones when you call 844-MOJO-LIVE. Well, listen to the irony of this one. Lydia almost got into a little fight argument at church because of something that she was doing. And I wanted to throw this out there. You can't get into an argument on Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday, right?

02:57:39 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I do feel bad about this now, but at the time, kind of. So on this past Sunday on Palm Sunday, I went to church with my mom. and then I had asked my friend who was bringing her three kids if they wanted to sit next to us. And she was running a little bit behind, but rest assured, I had her covered because I had all my coats and my purses laying across. Oh, yeah. You got to save the seat. I wanted to save the seat. So church started at like 1130, and it was hitting like 1125, and people started standing on the walls. So they kept walking around to find a seat, of course, because they were just entering.

02:58:16 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 1:

Standing room only because guess what? They're C&Es.

02:58:18 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:58:19 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 1:

Christmas and Easter's. They only go to church on those days.

02:58:22 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 2:

I know. Yeah. So then the altar guys started to walk around and they were looking over at me and my mom. And my mom started to get tears in her eyes because she felt so bad. But I'm like, it's okay, mom. Like, they're coming. They're coming. And my friend texted me and she's like, I'm going to be really, really late. Like, I don't know if I'm going to make it in time to sit in those seats. And I was like, no, it's okay. Well, 1130 comes around. And of course, the altar guy comes back around to me and was like, you need to move those. And my face got so red because people on the wall started to stare at me. They were like, this girl is taking up all these seats. And I felt like those people prior to when, you know the movies before you could reserve seats? How people would put their coats in seats of the premieres?

02:59:03 - 02:59:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

02:59:04 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I felt like one of those people. I was so embarrassed.

02:59:08 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 1:

Do people get a little ornery? I've used that word twice this week.

02:59:14 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 3:

I love that word.

02:59:14 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 1:

I need another word for when people get irate and crazy. do they get like that at church like has anybody ever been in a fight at church you'll have to or the church parking lot leaving the church leaving church is when it gets nuts yeah because

02:59:30 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 3:

they tell you you can only go at least you know at kensington you can only go a certain way you can only turn right even though it is way easier for me to turn left and probably for everybody else so there are definitely some people who go right past that sign oh yeah and i i feel like people don't have any more Jesus left in them by that point.

02:59:49 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

And the thing that's interesting is, and I've been to that church too, Kensington Church, they have to do it the way that they do it because the townships and stuff like that want them to exit and enter.

03:00:00 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 2:

and do things the same way. A certain way. And nobody wants to listen to the volunteer in the fluorescent,

03:00:08 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 4:

whatever, glowing jacket. This sweet woman who's standing there with a big smile on her face. I'm sure she gets all sorts of fingers.

03:00:15 - 03:00:21 | Speaker 1:

Then they should have signs that say things like, we're here to save our sins or save ourselves.

03:00:22 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 2:

Mike, you know what the sign is? The cross that's outside of that church. That has nothing to do with a spot. That's the sign. Christina, hi. hi hey what's going on you're calling up about uh christmas and easter yeah yeah lydia her

03:00:37 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 5:

pastor or you said about them being like christmas easter ce's yes i texted my pastor would call them ceo christmas easter only oh that's good i was trying to figure what the element

03:00:50 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 2:

have you ever seen people get crazy in the church or church parking lot oh my gosh yeah i've seen

03:00:58 - 03:01:22 | Speaker 5:

Many things happen Because like Well my pastor He's gone now He's deceased But We had a really Small marriage Of only 120 So when Those people Those CEOs Would show up We would literally Have people standing outside In the fellowship hall Like The normal people Couldn't Couldn't sit down And they would I mean It would get a little crazy

03:01:22 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Every time Every time you hit that button Where the beep went off We all blinked We all It was like It's like you were hitting us in the eye with the boop, boop, boop. Well, happy Easter to you.

03:01:33 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, am I hitting something? No, you were pushing your button.

03:01:38 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 2:

But that's all right. I got one right in the eye. Happy Easter to you.

03:01:43 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 5:

Happy Easter, you guys. Thank you.

03:01:45 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 2:

All right, take care of yourself. Oh, my God. somebody actually wouldn't uh wouldn't actually get up when they asked them to move in the uh started yelling and the pastor actually had to stop church because of that at one of the

03:02:01 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 4:

churches here on a text from 586 what time did your friend actually come she ended up getting there at 11 55 oh god yeah i would be i would be nervous at that point and what time was mass

03:02:14 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 2:

11 30 wait a second so at what point do you just go yeah it's on you technically well and also all right you got to stand at this point is this bad Lydia tell me this and please be gentle with me is this bad that I always leave after communion because I want to beat the rush getting out yeah

03:02:33 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 5:

that's bad because you have to receive the final blessing that's like the best part I know what

03:02:37 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 2:

they're gonna say and I know they're gonna and they always do announcements and things like that anyway you know hey by the way donuts and coffee you know for the that's why you go to church for the you like the final blessing i do do you stay till the end of the song the processional song

03:02:52 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 5:

that goes from the i stay till the very end when the priest walks off that altar i get out of the

03:02:57 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 2:

pew i'm a bad catholic i'm like i literally i'm in by the time i i'm like and i know it's bad they're gonna say this to me i'm gonna have people say this to me but i'm still with the host in my mouth you know as i'm uh do you really pulling out pulling out on commerce road my pastor had

03:03:16 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 5:

to make an announcement once because he saw a lady put it in her purse oh my gosh no he's like

03:03:22 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 2:

please don't take communion with you it's that that was maybe that was for a friend at home or something like that um all right it's mojo in the morning show mojo in the morning's top trending stories so top trending stories and we have a uh a guest to join us here in just a couple of moments So stick around for that real quick. These stories were wild. Shannon, you talk about it this morning, but then I just read more to the story and I heard the news report. And the news report is actually interesting to listen to. Did you hear the story about the homeowner who says that Find My iPhone app mistakenly caused for angry people to come to his house thinking that their phone was in his house, that he had stolen their phone and this has been going on for years and it's not just one person

03:04:13 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 3:

but it seems like a lot of people that are doing this scott schuster tells me that he moved into his home in 2018 and ever since every few months people will come knocking on his door sometimes in the middle of the night just thinking that he stole their lost items he has two young children he tells me it's gotten to the point where he's worried for their safety because their kids are

03:04:33 - 03:04:38 | Speaker 5:

sometimes afraid to sleep at night. Well, the cops are on their way over here, so you may want to come

03:04:38 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 3:

talk to me before they come here. Upset and frustrated, this woman threatens to call the police because she believes the person at this address in Richmond stole her lost phone,

03:04:48 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 5:

and she's not the only one. Not even close. My brother's phone is lost, and the last ping

03:04:56 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 3:

location was right here. The homeowner, Scott Schuster, though, says he has never stolen iphone airpod or anything of the sort had to wake up and go answer the door and explain to them that i don't have their device and people don't tend to believe you just saying it doesn't

03:05:09 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 1:

make any sense of the phone saying it's here schuster isn't sure why the find my iphone app is pinging his address either he says he's just as upset as the people showing up at his door with two young kids seven and nine he's worried for his family's safety there's plenty of

03:05:25 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 3:

irrational people in the world that if they're angry if they're drunk if they you know have had a rough night and they lost their phone and thought it was stolen um that's my biggest concern someone coming to the house um you know i'd be freaking out thinking that somebody's gonna like

03:05:41 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 1:

beat me up as i'm going out to my car says nothing has ever been resolved schuster who happens to be a software engineer has his own theories but can't be sure as to why this is happening desperate for help he turned to us what's your response to someone watching who says he stole the phones

03:05:58 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 3:

and airpods this seems convenient yeah my neighbors like to tease me that i'm the the neighborhood iphone and ipod and whatever steal um thief uh no i i mean i don't go out much enough to uh do that i work from home i young children i would just like it fixed that's wild and that's not a crazy

03:06:17 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 2:

story and they got to give them something for that uh they got to like you know i don't know What do you give? What does Apple give? Like a gift card or something like that?

03:06:24 - 03:06:26 | Speaker 1:

Every time they upgrade the phone, he gets a new one.

03:06:26 - 03:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he gets to actually get a new upgrade. Speaking of mistaken identity, this story is wild. The FBI raided the wrong hotel room.

03:06:37 - 03:06:39 | Speaker 1:

This happens all the time.

03:06:39 - 03:08:08 | Speaker 2:

And the agents ended up interrogating, cuffing, and roughing up a Delta Airlines pilot. So the FBI and the DOD agents were doing a training exercise and they got the wrong hotel room and it was a hotel room of a Delta Airlines pilot in the middle of the night. They burst in. They were holding the man in cuffs for more than 45 minutes before they realized the mistake. The agents, according to one source, thought that the man was a 30-year-old guy who was part of their training exercise that they had at the hotel. Hotel security was notified about the incident and contacted the police. The FBI released a statement saying that the Boston Division is reviewing the incident with the DOD for further action that would be deemed appropriate. Can you imagine that? You're just sitting there in your hotel room. I don't know if I want that guy flying my airplane the next day. You know what I mean? Like, if that guy gets on an airplane and starts flying, I mean, I'd be a little bit pissed off. And a Michigan couple welcomes their first daughter and actually the family's first daughter in more than 130 years. Parents Carolyn and Andrew Clark welcomed Audrey last month. She's the first daughter to be born on Andrew's side of the family since 1885.

03:08:09 - 03:08:10 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that is crazy.

03:08:11 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 2:

Is that not crazy?

03:08:12 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 1:

She is going to be one spoiled little girl.

03:08:14 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 2:

His family is loaded with nothing but a bunch of uncles and male cousins and brothers. And now they have the first girl. That's wild, the genetics of that. Hey, if you're looking for a movie over the holiday weekend, we got a good one for you. Mike said that it was awesome. You got a chance to see it the other day, the movie Air. Yes. On the phone with us is our good friend Anthony from Imagine Theaters. And they've got something cool that's going on at their Royal Oak location. Anthony, what's going on, bud?

03:08:44 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo. Shannon. Good morning. Everyone. Good morning. Good morning.

03:08:48 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 2:

We're doing all right, man. So tell us about this movie, Air. First off, I want to go see it. But secondly, what are you guys doing? What's the special that you guys are doing?

03:08:56 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Great. So the movie is really special, Mojo. It's about the story of Sonny Vaccaro and how he developed a relationship with Michael Jordan's mom and really how it's a story of perseverance, and it's really a tremendous film, and it was a precursor to what we see today in college athletics with name, image, and likeness and how the athletes participate in the profits. It's a very, very interesting story, and to celebrate that, We're partnering with Burn Rubber and a local Detroit artist who's going to paint a custom pair of Jordan Air Force Ones in the lobby. And we're going to give them away, and we're going to have a hoop set up for the kids because there's also another film this weekend, Super Mario Brothers. So it's a perfect weekend for us. We hit the adults and the kids.

03:09:45 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Man, that's awesome. And so I saw you guys on with Jay the other day on Fox 2, and this artist's work is amazing. And how he's able to basically customize these Jordans and do it like in a match.

03:10:00 - 03:10:06 | Speaker 3:

matter of i don't know between 20 minutes and probably a few hours right yeah he he does some

03:10:06 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 11:

amazing artwork he's done a mural for us in some other locations um it's really eric's a very talented artist and and uh it's all artists they can do something quick or they put their you know takes hours if they take their time and and do some detailed drawings so we we have an amazing spider-man mural by eric in one of our locations and and uh people are astounded by his work ask

03:10:29 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 3:

Ask him or the Burn Rubber people where I can get my Jordans cleaned because I got to tell you something, my Jordans are a little scuffed up right now. We'll do that. Can you see that? I thought Ashley had somebody for you.

03:10:43 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 6:

Ashley had a guy. Ashley Nix had somebody.

03:10:44 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 3:

Ashley had a guy, but she's got a feeling, she says, that her guy might not be out right now. He might actually be doing something. Oh, really? I don't know. Ashley, yeah. Oh, man. He might.

03:10:56 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 11:

Well, we have a guy for you. You know, I'm on the board of Boys and Girls Club, and we incubate small businesses through the Boys and Girls Club, and one of our incubated businesses actually is doing really well, and he cleans sneakers. So I'll give you a comment.

03:11:11 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 3:

I never knew that. I need that. That's awesome. Anthony, thanks for going on with us. Are you going to opening day today?

03:11:17 - 03:11:26 | Speaker 11:

I am not. I'm stuck in the office. I'm working, as always. All right. We love you, buddy. Take care of yourself, okay? Love you guys. Happy Easter. Bye, Anthony.
