This is Mojo in the Morning. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

00:02:14 - 00:02:27 | Speaker 5:

And the Rockets red glare. This is like an orgasm in a cup Showtime

00:02:48 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Could your emoji that you attach to a co-worker's text message get you fired? Well, it definitely could get you and land you in hot water. It's interesting how using smiley emojis at work could actually get you in hot water or give you a different perception from people. Story is trending this morning. Amy Worley is a communications expert, And she said that emojis are a great way to have people get reminded about your feelings, but they're also a bad way to show yours. And sometimes the emoji that you use could actually be misconstrued by a co-worker. And I sometimes will, you know, have used the wrong emoji thinking it was the right emoji. Yeah. Like the different crying emoji, you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. Like I hate, Spike actually got me on this one. And there was a sad story and there was a crying laugh or a crying, sad, sad emoji. And then there's a crying like you're happy.

00:04:19 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 1:

So hard.

00:04:20 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 2:

And I use the wrong emoji. But the slightly smiling emoji, a study gave this example as one of those ones that could actually be in get you in trouble. The slightly smiling emoji indicates general positivity for 39% of people, while 14% of respondents found it gave a bit of deep exasperation and distrust. All right.

00:04:51 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:04:52 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

The laughing, crying face emoji.

00:04:56 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

I use that one a lot.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Which now means dead.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 1:

and replaced in the skull emoji it definitely resulted in some misinterpretations according to her where some people have used that particular emoji that laughing crying face emoji and they felt like they were being mocked they actually looked at it as a mocking i'm just i'm looking

00:05:19 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 4:

i'm going through my are we overly sensitive yes we are i'm going through my text with tony travato our boss just like what emojis i've been using lately lots of crying laughing lots of crying laughing upside down smiley face well that's interesting

00:05:35 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 1:

the upside down smiley face according to her could be turned into a way of saying that you think that they are not somebody that is trustworthy or on the right path

00:05:48 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

would you call it being overly sensitive or just adapting to new communication

00:05:52 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

00:05:54 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's being sensitive I think if you don't know the context clues, you can really do some damage with your words.

00:06:01 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, they're not words. They're emojis.

00:06:03 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but our new form of communication is using emojis as words. Back in the day, they used to use hieroglyphics in the caves, and they told stories. It was communicating. This is our new cave hieroglyphics, our emojis.

00:06:16 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you didn't see a caveman flipping out because a smiley face was upside down. You know what I mean?

00:06:21 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Maybe they did. Maybe they did. You don't know.

00:06:24 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

How about the tongue-out emoji? Ever use the tongue-out emoji?

00:06:27 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:06:28 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

The tongue-out emoji was once used to represent playful, cheeky joking. Yeah. Well, now Gen Zers have added a double meaning to what was once an innocent emoji. The new meaning of the tongue-out emoji is playful sexiness, and the tongue-out emoji actually could get you brought before human resources for using that.

00:06:50 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I've used that one a lot, too. Do you? I've got to go back. I don't know. And, you know, what else is like the hearts and every color means something else. And sometimes people will ding me for that. And I'm like, look, I used that color heart to match the picture that I'm captioning. Like it means nothing.

00:07:07 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, we all know about the peach emoji and we all know about the eggplant emoji, right? No, what's that mean? Well, you know, you know. Well, how about the poop emoji? So the poop emoji is another one that you've got to be really careful. Used now, you sometimes use it as, you know, crap or whatever. The Gen Zers are using it in text arguments to call another person a piece of spit.

00:07:36 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:07:36 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 1:

And when the poop emoji is used, sometimes people will misconstrue it, even though the conversation is actually playful in the beginning. once the poop emoji comes out you're basically calling them out calling them a piece of spit so i don't know megan i um i agree that we need to adapt with times but then i also think well these are like goofy little things that we're gonna i mean like maybe people are maybe people need here how about this pick up the phone and make a phone call and talk to no i will never do that yeah like let's have let's have just a conversation with them and we still maintain

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 4:

I mean, GIFs are superior to emojis anyway, so just choose a good GIF, and you'll be good to go.

00:08:16 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's the other thing that's going to probably come out then, is GIF emojis will be...

00:08:20 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

Like, is that inappropriate to send a GIF to your boss?

00:08:22 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You sent me Jim from the office. I don't like that.

00:08:25 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

We work in a very, luckily, unprofessional industry. What kind of real business people are sending emojis to? That seems super unprofessional.

00:08:36 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 1:

Amy, what did your boss do? Your voice is disguised, by the way.

00:08:39 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Uh, yeah, thank you. Yes. Um, I very professional business and he sent me multiple texts with a kissy face emoji. Um, we communicate a lot about schedules and it would be like, Hey, I need you for this and that. Thanks. Kissy face. And I would have no idea how to respond. I mean, I finally got the guts to say something. My husband wanted to kill him. Um, but yes, it was very unprofessional and very awkward feeling. That's interesting.

00:09:09 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, because Amy, like, you know, we're all saying, oh, it's just an emoji. Who cares? But if my boss sent me a kissy face emoji, I might be weirded out.

00:09:18 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What was it?

00:09:19 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

So weirded out. And then to have to go in and, like, work and be like, yeah, hi, yep, I got your text. Okay, yep, I'll be in. Yeah. To see these patients. Okay, yep. And then go in and have to work. And then, you know, like, the first time I ignored it and, like, okay, all right, maybe it was an accident, you know? Can I ask? You're happy or, you know, and I didn't want to make it awkward. Maybe he meant to send the smiley one and hit the wrong one.

00:09:41 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, can I ask you a question? What was the conversation like where a kissy face emoji would come out?

00:09:47 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

That's the thing. So I'm a physical therapist, and so we communicate a lot regarding people that are coming in. So when I would have to come in, he would let me know when patients are coming in, and that's all that it was. It was like, hey, I have three admits that came in.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 3:

today this is what i need you know you to see and okay yep all right and then that's all it was

00:10:04 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

but thanks kissy face and i was like yeah that's not that's not good not i can see where your husband would be upset about that uh what's up jesse hey i'm just calling in to defend megan

00:10:17 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

sure thank you it seems it seems like back in the day you know with ancient hieroglyphics uh people would always be communicating in different forms so it wasn't just hieroglyph hieroglyphics, but if a king would march into somebody's land and trespass or leave, like, a I was here symbol, they would get pretty upset.

00:10:41 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 5:

Suck it, everybody.

00:10:43 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 4:

Upside down, smiley face, though.

00:10:46 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 5:

Well, it could have been a handprint. Like, you don't know. You don't know. Why can't you guys just say, good point, Megan. Why is that so hard? You guys are a match made in heaven.

00:10:56 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 4:

Megan, does this guy turn you on with the way that he not only defended you, but he also, like, what he's talked about?

00:11:03 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

He knows his history. He's knowledgeable. He's a smart man. We'll take him. Jesse, are you single?

00:11:10 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. Kissy face emoji your way, unless you're going to be upset by it. We don't want you to be upset by it. Voice this guy is Chris. What's up, Chris?

00:11:20 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you guys?

00:11:21 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

We're good. What's going on?

00:11:22 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 3:

So, I sent my boss a very well-composed email, and I just said, have a great day, smiley face. She sent back, all she said was, emojis are not professional to use via email. So, I sent back a smiley face.

00:11:43 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 4:

That's a great response. Wow. Did she do anything after that?

00:11:50 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

um no she i'm just kind of the clown at work i can be very professional but i'm also just kind of a jokester she didn't really say anything back and then uh the next day i sent back um are you going to answer my questions side eye smiley oh no you wanted to get fired

00:12:10 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 4:

actually chris you probably realized they ain't firing you nowadays i'm an asset Yeah.

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys know what a personality hire is?

00:12:20 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 4:

What's that? A personality hire?

00:12:22 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 5:

It's just the person that got hired into their position. Like, to keep everyone laughing, to keep their morale up in the building.

00:12:27 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 4:

Are you a personality hire, Chris?

00:12:30 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so originally, but at this point, I think it helps the morale. And at this point, they're just keeping me for personality. I like to think that I'm funny. Usually I'm the only one laughing, but sometimes I'll get a good joke out there, too.

00:12:49 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Take care, Chris.

00:12:53 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, guys.

00:12:56 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

All right. No emojis anymore. I'm not emoji-ing anymore.

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm using more emojis.

00:13:03 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to get ourselves into any trouble here, Megan.

00:13:08 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 5:

Why did you say Megan at the end? Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mojo trying to poke the bear. so he was like oh she's oh i've been good all week can i be good all week you okay i'm sorry can i be calm down for a second you are such a liar saying that you've been good all week while you've been poking at me literally every day starting at 555 like literally every day and then you you do this nice little segment and at the very end you go right maggot you're so rude

00:13:42 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Where's Chris at? Chris, that guy, call us back. I want you to come and talk to him, Megan. That made her feel happy. All right.

00:13:48 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 5:

Sensitive. I'm just...

00:13:49 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

Did you notice, by the way, when that guy, Chris, jumped on and goes, I'd like to defend Megan? Megan's like, really?

00:13:56 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 5:

I was like, it's a miracle. Walk it down into history books.

00:13:59 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 4:

What show am I listening to? This is unbelievable.

00:14:03 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

My favorite part of my job is assuming I'm going to get fired every time my boss wants to talk to me. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:14:11 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. all i'm gonna need some caffeine today oh my god me too having been out sick for a few days last week then coming back on a monday which normally mondays are tough anyway from a weekend i just woke up this morning i was like man and i slept through the night but i was exhausted when i woke up i was like holy cow man i just ain't ready for this whole thing megan you got to be more exhausted than i was it's hitting me hard this is my little nap advice for you don't go longer than a power nap like a 35 to 40 minute power nap because the moment that you go over that hour to hour and a half nap you basically have slept you have yeah the rest of the day i did two hours yesterday a two-hour nap and you're absolutely right Ha!

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 1:

like crap we you had a kind of a crazy day yesterday so somebody it wasn't me but this

00:15:08 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 3:

is the weirdest thing and i'm like i'm still trying to figure out so i was talking to my boyfriend wes's sister yesterday her name's kelly and i love her to pieces and she has the cutest dog in the whole entire world he's a um a uh a poo a poodle uh a fluffy dog i don't even know what like a cockapoo okay he's a poodle a poo he's a poo poo his name is bobby bones which is really funny to me because is she a fan of bobby bones she's not a fan of bobby bones and like didn't know who he was i i can't remember how she named this dog bobby bones but it's funny because he's a fellow he's a radio guy okay so so kelly and bobby bones were out taking a walk yesterday and she told me that this stranger, this woman, came up to her to comment on how cute Bobby Bones is, the dog. And this woman then said, and how are his balls? And Kelly was like, wait, what? I don't know how his balls are. Without skipping a beat, the woman reaches under and grabs the dog's balls and looks at Kelly and said, Wow, those are really nice balls And walked away I swear to you I swear to God I couldn't make this up And she was like I don't know why that happened Isn't that so weird?

00:16:36 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 1:

Come on You can't do that

00:16:39 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 3:

Grabbed Bobby Bones' balls

00:16:43 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 1:

You can't just walk up to I don't even care if it's a dog And do that I can't believe that the dog wasn't appalled by that. Did the dog allow that to happen without, like, biting her? The dog didn't bite her. Oh, my God, Bobby Bones.

00:16:58 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 3:

But why would a stranger care about someone else's dog's balls?

00:17:01 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 1:

That's assault in some areas. Is it a breeder thing?

00:17:06 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. And then she asked me, she goes, how are Charlie's balls? And I said, I don't know. He lost them 12 years ago.

00:17:16 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, that's right. I lost mine 20-some years ago. Can I throw it out there for the listeners and ask, do we have any dog people that are listening? Is that something, like checking the dog's balls? Was this woman like a vet or something?

00:17:35 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. She said she'd never seen her before. But she was a ball grabber.

00:17:40 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Could you imagine if she had to call the cops on that? Like, hey, there's some lady.

00:17:46 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Assaulted my dog.

00:17:47 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, fondling my dog.

00:17:48 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 3:

I need some of your balls.

00:17:52 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 1:

You got me off guard when you said the ball grabber one. All I kept thinking to myself was, oh, I missed a drop there. I'm a ball grabber. There you go. I got it. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. We need to see if there's any dog, any vets or, you know, like Mike said, maybe it's a breeding thing. I don't know. Call us up Could you imagine if that was like a human Mike can you imagine if you were out Walking with Allie and the kids And some lady came up and said How are Mike's balls And then just randomly Reached But if her response was they're very nice I might be okay with it Thank you Oh here we go I think we might have an answer To this one we might uh we might know the deal nikki do you know why this woman just randomly grabbed the dog's balls yes i do because she's not that's good so it has so it has nothing to do with anything that you know of like

00:19:02 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 2:

some kind of i work in behavior i compete in dog agility i know lots of breeders I've never in my life have I heard of someone doing that. So strange.

00:19:16 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 1:

I know that, and I don't know if this is necessarily for dogs, but I know when it comes to, like, horses and things like that, that there's something to the firmness of the balls, but that's for reproduction purposes, right? Right. They're looking to breathe.

00:19:31 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 2:

And in confirmation, absolutely. In confirmation, they will check the male's obstacles. You know, everything has to be the good representation. of the breed. But random ball grabbing is not something that dog people do.

00:19:45 - 00:19:48 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Nikki. Hi, Maria.

00:19:49 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:19:50 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 1:

How are you? Maria, what do you do?

00:19:52 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

I also show dogs, and so I agree with the last caller about what they said about the confirmation of the dog.

00:20:00 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 4:

the breeding potential of the dog so if this lady showed dogs um maybe she was checking you know the reproductive potential of the dog because that's the judge's job in the ring is really to assess um you're evaluating breeding stock so okay how but if this lady like if you're you know the lady with the dog if she had a mutt like i don't know why it would matter because you know dogs purebred dogs are shown not mixed breed dogs yeah i have no idea

00:20:32 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 8:

i just so when you show a girl dog do you look for birthing hips like what

00:20:37 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 2:

that would be something right people are just like out there these days aren't they He'll do some random weird stuff.

00:20:52 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 5:

I know. Well, I mean, why would you grab him and just come in and, like, what are you going to do about it? You like him? What are you going to do about it?

00:21:01 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 3:

Right. Exactly. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:21:06 - 00:21:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. See you later.

00:21:07 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 3:

All right. We'll talk to you later.

00:21:09 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 2:

Neither new nor improved, but still better than the rest. Just Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:21:20 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. Okay, Taylor Swift fans, I hate to do this to you. We've got some good news and we've got some bad news here. The bad news is it looks like Taylor may have broken up with her boyfriend, Joe, whom she's been with for the last six years. Good news is, well, let's be honest. If this is true, we know that she's going to be pumping out some pretty good music and some music videos. Rumor has it they actually broke up a couple of weeks ago, but it's been pretty drama-free. Now, this hasn't been confirmed, but apparently Joe hasn't been to any of her recent shows. They haven't been spotted together in a while. The reps at this point aren't talking, but it's pretty uncommon for Joe not to be at the concert.

00:22:02 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 6:

Do you think that she hinted towards a breakup during her show? That's what people are saying.

00:22:07 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 8:

So, great question. And if somebody can pull down that dirty bed for me a little bit, I would really appreciate it. I do think that she did hint at it. Because wasn't she crying at the piano? I saw that all over my TikTok page. And a lot of people were saying, is she going through something? Why is she crying here? Because it was a song about Joe, right? Mm-hmm. Good question. Probably.

00:22:29 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. She's good at that. Little Easter eggs everywhere. She is. She is very good at that.

00:22:35 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 8:

Speaking of Easter, she had all the eggs for us. We appreciate it. Jack Harlow is going to make his acting debut in the upcoming Apple TV Plus movie, The Instigators. He's actually going to be joined by Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, and Ving Rhames, among a bunch of others. The story is going to follow two thieves who go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a robbery goes awry. Jack Harlow has also been cast in the reboot of the film White Man Can't Jump, where he's going to play the role of a street basketball hustler alongside Seneca Walls, which I think is, like, people are pretty pumped for that movie. But do we like this kind of bridge from Jack Harlow into music and acting? No.

00:23:16 - 00:23:23 | Speaker 1:

No, I think Jack Harlow's the biggest tool in the entire world. But I like his music. He is. He is. Let's be honest. He's kind of a tool.

00:23:24 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 7:

Are you kidding me?

00:23:25 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 1:

He's a tool.

00:23:26 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 7:

No.

00:23:26 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Women like him because he's attainable, but he's a tool.

00:23:30 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 7:

Michael!

00:23:31 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 1:

That's what it is. I mean.

00:23:34 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 7:

But also, you called him attainable, and I like that, because I do think he is attainable.

00:23:38 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Jack Harlow hit me up. Oh, I forgot. You have a big crush on him, don't you, KP? No, I don't. You did not hear that from me.

00:23:46 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 8:

All right, you heard it here first. KP is trying to hook up with Jack Harlow.

00:23:49 - 00:23:51 | Speaker 6:

Maybe Post Malone, but not Jack Harlow.

00:23:51 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 8:

Next time he's in town, we are going to make it happen. I'm just saying.

00:23:55 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 6:

No, thank you.

00:23:55 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 8:

So last week, we were talking about Dylan Mulvaney and a lot of backlash that she was receiving due to being the new face of Bud Light and Nike. Well, she broke her silence over the weekend in a tuk-tuk where this was actually from her special. She did a special a couple of weeks ago where she was singing a lot of songs. If you didn't know, Dylan actually used to tour with the national tour of the Book of Mormon, so has a lot of theater experience, but she posted a video of her singing No One Is Alone from Into the Woods, which if you don't know that song, here's a clip of Dylan. So good.

00:24:27 - 00:24:29 | Unknown:

One is on your side.

00:24:32 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 8:

One else is not. I love this song, but she said in the caption, this song felt fitting. Given the week that I've had Thank you all for making me feel supported I am not alone Perfect song for that And if you don't know Into Woods is amazing And it's on Disney Plus And all of you should go and watch it Okay Zach and I actually have been fighting Quite a bit about this new Mario movie Okay

00:24:58 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

It's done so well

00:25:00 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 2:

though here's the thing zach says it's good and i can't i can't respect any of his opinions because of this all right so the number one thing people were talking about when it came to this movie was why is chris pratt starring in it and how is he supposed to voice the character of mario a lot of people said no matter what he chose it probably wasn't going to be the right choice well i do have a clip here somebody uh snuck into the movie theater and got a portion of what his voice And the reviews have been, he sounds fine. Yeah, the guy who says it's perfect is the original voice actor while they're acknowledging, is this the right voice choice? So this movie did amazing this past week and got nearly $200 million domestically, but it has terrible, terrible reviews. It's only got like a 56% on Rotten Tomatoes.

00:26:12 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 3:

But you have to see it though, right? It's a Mario movie. You have to go see it.

00:26:16 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 2:

So I don't have kids, so I will not pay to see this movie in theaters.

00:26:20 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to get zooted and go see it?

00:26:23 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, once it starts streaming, you know, I will pull up and we will be watching it. You know, before bed.

00:26:30 - 00:26:30 | Unknown:

Exactly.

00:26:32 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, I need your help on this last story because it has to do with sports. Go team. Go. But this has to do with the Mavericks. Did the Mavericks throw their game this past weekend when it came to whether or not they were going to qualify for the finals? Because they wanted a better draft pick.

00:26:47 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 4:

It makes sense. Teams do it all the time. I mean, we do it on accident, but teams do it all the time.

00:26:52 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 2:

The NBA did an investigation into Mark Cuban and the Mavs to see what had happened. Right before the game, a bunch of their best players were out due to injuries, including Kyrie Irving. But the majority of the game was played by guys who rarely hit the court. On top of this, the Mavs blew an 11-point lead in the fourth. And there was a game-tying shot that the Mavs missed. Mark Cuban smiled on camera about it. And the coach said that they sat a lot of guys this game because upper management asked them to build a better roster next season. So, like, tell me how that isn't cheating.

00:27:19 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 4:

It feels like it, but...

00:27:21 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it definitely did. And then Dwayne Casey is leaving as the head coach of the Pistons, right, guys?

00:27:27 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yeah, he's stepping down because they suck. If that's... He won't say that, but that's the reason why. They're going to find... They think that's going to solve the problem.

00:27:38 - 00:27:54 | Speaker 2:

Mike's our official sports reporter, so take it as fact if he says it, right? Yeah. Prayers to them. I don't know anything. It was so random, and I love that we're going to end the Dirty with that. Check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:28:05 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 1:

So I had a really interesting phone call come my way. I'm doing an event. It's going to be – I've never done a golf tournament before because I've always hated going to, like, these charity golf tournaments because it's, like, five and a half hours out of your day or sometimes even more.

00:28:21 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 2:

You're participating in one or you're putting one on?

00:28:24 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm actually going to have one. That's really cool. It's going to be one that's going to be surrounded around me.

00:28:28 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:28:29 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 1:

But we're doing it at Topgolf.

00:28:31 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a great idea.

00:28:32 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that the greatest?

00:28:33 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 2:

See, I would go to that.

00:28:34 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah. So it would be kind of cool, wouldn't it? You know, and I think there'll be more people that will participate that are not, you know, that just want to drink and, you know, eat and do all the rest of that stuff. And I hope that all of you guys will go, and I will comp all of you guys if you go. Charity. You guys will all be comped. I'll take it.

00:28:51 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, don't say that. Sorry, Shannon. Don't speak for us.

00:28:58 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 1:

This is the same girl, by the way, that won't pay for her bag to be checked. Remember that. That is correct. All right. So let me tell you this story. So Mandy, my friend who is putting this on, she's the head of the organization, has been trying to get a hold of me. And I've been really crazy busy the last couple of weeks. And honestly, people always end up calling at the worst times for me. They'll end up calling me either during the show. They'll call me while I'm in like some kind of a thing with like my son or Chelsea or whatever or when I'm pooping. And so I don't pick up the phone. And then not necessarily do I return phone calls, but she hasn't left me a message.

00:29:36 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:29:37 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

And long story short, Mandy sends a message to another person that we're friends with and says, he's ignoring me. I don't know what's going on. So this person called me and said, you got to call Mandy. So I call Mandy up on the phone and Mandy says to me, I am so embarrassed. And I said, Mandy, why are you embarrassed? and she goes

00:30:00 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 2:

did you hear that voicemail message? And I go, Mandy, I didn't get a voicemail message from you. And she goes, oh, good. You didn't get the voicemail message. And I said, what's the voicemail? She goes, I'm not going to tell you. I'm not going to tell you. And I said, what do you mean you're not going to tell me? And she says, well, I said some things I probably shouldn't have said on the voicemail message.

00:30:15 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 1:

What?

00:30:16 - 00:30:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So I think that she was really mad at me. And I don't know, you know, because I have, to be honest with you, have not listened to the voicemail message. I know. Because I couldn't see. You know how on Apple it comes up on under voicemails?

00:30:26 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 4:

I think you can see this transcription if you don't want to listen to it.

00:30:29 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, or it says the person's name on it and stuff. It didn't show up on that because I got this new iPhone. And for some reason, I'm not getting some text. I'm not getting some voicemails, I guess.

00:30:38 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:30:38 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 2:

All right. So I said, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to call my phone number and put my code in. Have you ever, have you done that in forever? Probably not, right?

00:30:48 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know what you're talking about.

00:30:49 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 2:

So with your iPhone, remember the old days when you got voicemail messages? It would show you have so many messages and you had to dial your phone number. or hit pound something or whatever, and then you have to remember what your code is. So it took me a while to remember what the heck my code was, but I wanted to see how many messages that I had that I wasn't listening to. Now, I'm going to say this to Mandy. I have not listened to your voicemail message, okay? All I listened to was to see if it was that you left me a new message, and this is the only part that I've listened to.

00:31:23 - 00:31:30 | Speaker 4:

mojo hey it's mandy all right that's all i've heard how are you not listening to the rest of

00:31:30 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 2:

that question because she said to me don't listen to that message should i listen to it or should i not listen to it because i want to know what she said listen to it you think so okay because what because she i mean she could have been saying some things that i would not i feel like i want

00:31:47 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 4:

you to give me your phone and i'm gonna delete delete because we've all had moments where we have acted like where we've bubbled over and said things or did things that we really really regretted later and i feel like if you listen to it she was probably having one of those moments and it will totally change your perspective on on her and that's what it that's what it sounded

00:32:09 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 2:

like when she told me don't listen to it like she was really adamant about don't listen to it so i'm only assuming she might have said something but reese you say listen to it i say listen to it Mike, Megan, what do you guys say?

00:32:21 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because it sounds like she may have said something bad, but what if she said something bad about you? Not that she would. That's totally what it is.

00:32:29 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 2:

That's honestly what I'm thinking. I'm thinking, because remember, I wasn't answering her phone calls.

00:32:34 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 4:

See, I wouldn't want to know. She had a moment. Let her have her moment. We all have them.

00:32:38 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 2:

So, Shannon, you're a don't listen to it. Megan, what are you? Are you a, should I find out what is being said about me?

00:32:46 - 00:33:03 | Speaker 3:

The right answer is for you to delete it. My answer is for you to listen to it. I think Shannon's right. We all have these moments. But at the same time, accountability, baby. You did it.

00:33:03 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 2:

You did it.

00:33:05 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 4:

When people send you an email and then they send you a follow-up email redacting it, which I hate that word. Do you go back and read the first email? I just delete it.

00:33:14 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, sometimes I want to know what was the big thing, but I don't know.

00:33:20 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm not f***ing call back again. I want to know what it was. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm too nosy not to know what that is, especially if you tell me don't do that. Don't listen to that.

00:33:31 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Some things are better left to know.

00:33:32 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 2:

Mike, it brought me back to my childhood. It brought me back to my childhood when my mom would tell me not to do something or when as a parent, I've told my kids not to do something and they go right ahead and do it.

00:33:41 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 1:

Had you never told me not to listen to that voicemail, guaranteed I wouldn't have listened to that voicemail anyways because I don't listen to voicemails. But now that you told me not to, I'm going to listen to it.

00:33:49 - 00:33:51 | Speaker 3:

What kind of a relationship do you have with her?

00:33:51 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 2:

Actually, she's a very sweet lady. She's awesome. I'll give you this. She works for the Oakland County Sheriff's Department. She's a great lady. And honestly, I don't think I've ever upset her at all. So I don't think that it's, you know, who knows?

00:34:06 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 4:

You have said things that you regret, I bet.

00:34:08 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 2:

I have.

00:34:08 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 4:

And you wish that you could suck them back in.

00:34:10 - 00:34:18 | Speaker 2:

And I felt bad that I didn't, you know, pick up her calls. But this is one of those things that could change our relationship forever if I listened to it. Wouldn't that be fun?

00:34:18 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 4:

Why don't I listen to it?

00:34:20 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 2:

Give me your phone.

00:34:21 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 3:

I'll listen to it and I'll tell you. But, Shannon, haven't you said things even on this show that you didn't like? Every damn day. Right. And then people bring it up to us all the time. Yes. And we have to deal with it. And I wish I could take it back and erase it.

00:34:35 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 4:

Right. Edit it out. And you know what? I mean, you can. Or could she? After the fact.

00:34:39 - 00:34:47 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't you love to have a 20-second delay on your life so you can dump out of things like we do people's swear words? Susan, what's going on?

00:34:48 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Mojo. I'm curious. You have an iPhone, right?

00:34:52 - 00:34:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:34:53 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

How did you not see the transcription of the message when you went to go listen to it? No. Did all the words come up?

00:34:59 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 1:

Mine has been not doing that lately. Well, no, but also, remember, I had to call my number to get the message. So I called, heard the first part of it, yes, and then, yeah, that's it.

00:35:12 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I was just curious because I've got an iPhone, too, and the transcription comes right up.

00:35:16 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 1:

I only look at the transcription to see the phone number. That's usually the only time that I actually look for it, but I don't really read it. Thank you for the call, though. What's up, Jenny?

00:35:25 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 4:

um you know i think if you do listen to it you need to do so with with an open mind because clearly something was bothering her that she may not have communicated it the way that she would you know what that something was me i'm the something but but if you did something that really upset her wouldn't you want to know so that you could change that later no you're right But if it really upset her, she would tell you.

00:35:57 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:35:57 - 00:36:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, maybe she's one of those people that is afraid to really speak her mind and blows up.

00:36:05 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

No, she's not. She's usually pretty calm. Yeah, no, in my dealings with her, she's always been great. And actually, when I talked to her on the phone, everything was great. And we had a good conversation and everything, you know, we worked out the arrangements that we're going to be doing. but I just want to know what she said in the message that she was so adamant about don't listen to the message Anita? Yes your thoughts on this one real quick I have Shannon on my right shoulder she's the good angel and I've got Mike, Megan and Reese on the other one

00:36:40 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 3:

we're petty bitches what do you say? okay I'm with the petty one girl I don't think it's really petty Because she already prefaced it With don't listen to it But see I'm so nosy That I would have to listen to it But whatever she says You're not going to hold against her now Because she already was like Okay yeah don't listen to it Yeah but you know what

00:37:07 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 6:

You might hold it against her Because words They don't go away Once they're in your brain They're in your brain

00:37:14 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 1:

She's texting me right now Oh my god

00:37:18 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 6:

Like that whole sticks and stones may hurt my, whatever the hell it is.

00:37:22 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. That is so false. I'm calling, I'm calling Mandy right now. Hold on. I'm going to, I'm going to see if she'll answer the phone.

00:37:29 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 4:

I hope she'll tell us what she said.

00:37:30 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. See if we can listen to it or not listen to it.

00:37:33 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 5:

To be fair, she probably said things we all wanted to say.

00:37:36 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:37:37 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 5:

Do not put me on the air. Mandy, come on. Come on, Mandy.

00:37:42 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 1:

Mandy, come on. Can I listen to it or should I not listen to it?

00:37:45 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 5:

No, you can listen to it. I mean, of course you can listen to it. It's yours. Question for you.

00:37:52 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 1:

Were the words fat, idiot, dummy at all used at any kind of sentence on this voicemail message?

00:38:03 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 5:

Say that again. I'm sorry.

00:38:04 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 1:

Were the words fat, idiot, dummy used at all any time in this voicemail message?

00:38:09 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely not. No, if anything, I probably had a hint of desperation in my voice. I have a tendency to ramble It probably went on for way longer than it should have

00:38:20 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I did the ultimate tease On this golf tournament And we're going to have a date coming very soon for people So I just want everybody to know that, okay?

00:38:27 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing, thank you

00:38:29 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

You are so the best Listen

00:38:31 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 5:

00:38:37 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 1:

Wait, did the sheriff call you up And tell you I was talking about you Or who called you?

00:38:41 - 00:38:50 | Speaker 5:

No, my girlfriend who's a super fan just texted me and then jimmy called me and oh geez hey do me okay though do me a favor mandy

00:38:50 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 1:

00:40:43 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 1:

All kitchen and laundry, you name it.

00:40:45 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 2:

Anything kitchen and laundry, this guy knows how to fix it, whether they have computers in them or they don't have computers in them, whatever they got. And yesterday, he had an incident happen to him that was straight out of porn. Oh, really? Straight out of, seriously, what seems to be one of the more popular porns, the handyman actually got hit on by the horny wife. What happened?

00:41:09 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 1:

Can I call you Tom, or do I have to call you Mojo?

00:41:12 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 2:

You can call me whatever you want to. First off, what did this lady call you?

00:41:17 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

So anyway, she called, and I had to do service on a washer. So I walked in there, and you can tell a lot about a person when you first walk in by their house and how they keep it and so house is immaculate everything's in place i walk up she leads me to the washer and dryer and right in front of the washer on the floor is a pair of panties and i'm like okay so she's explaining what's going on and you know She's looking at him. I'm looking at him. It's really awkward. And, you know, so I just kind of, it kind of just played it off, ignored it, and just kind of started doing service.

00:42:05 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 2:

Do you have to, by the way, do you have to, like, work over the panties or move them to the side so you can actually? Because I know in a lot of cases you have to get on your hands and knees, right, to actually, like, service and get down low sometimes on these things.

00:42:19 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 1:

I'm getting there, big boy. Okay, go ahead. I'm sorry.

00:42:21 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. Go ahead.

00:42:22 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

Got to ease it in. So I just, I took my screwdriver and I slowly pushed him out of the way and she's kind of fingering there. And, you know, it was very uncomfortable. And, you know, I don't know if, you know, this was like a hint or, you know, if the whole house is immaculate and there's, you know, a stray pair of panties laying in front of the washer, like, you know, they were just left there.

00:42:49 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 2:

She's sending you a message or something, right?

00:42:52 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't, you know what? I don't know. I mean, I'm, I have no idea. Like, you know, I'm a, I'm, I'm no spring chicken, but I like to consider myself so streetable. Okay. I don't know what was going on there, but like, you know, she just, the whole vibe, she's talking odd and.

00:43:12 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 2:

Like, what do you mean by talking odd? What was she doing?

00:43:15 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

just like making like small talk you know about different things and it's like you know i mean i could you got to watch yourself in that situation my reputation could is riding on this who knows what this and you're a married man oh that was my next question okay yeah yeah yeah i told my wife what you know what was going on i when i was done i got in the truck and i told my life and she goes well what kind of panties were they and i'm like they were like red songs with like a white stripe and like white lace i don't know i didn't get that good of a look at them

00:43:51 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

that's a good answer good answer brad so so wait so when she's talking to you and this lady's talking to you as she's leaving the the one thing that's in disarray in her house other than the broken washer her her panties sitting in her front she's actually having conversation with

00:44:10 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 1:

you is she flirting with you so yeah like not tom listen at my age my standards have dropped so i think everybody's flirting with me you know what i mean i i really i think she was kind of like feeling me out and you know like who knows i mean there could be a camera somewhere her husband you know yeah it could be very big and beat you up misconstrue what you're thinking

00:44:37 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

you're just trying to go there and fix their washer so you said to me when you were telling me the story yesterday you said that most people who go to you know homes to repair things like plumbers electricians you know you in your case of repairing you know appliances that they have had awkward situations like you've had this happen And...

00:45:00 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 1:

to you before where we're like horny housewives are there doing stuff so i was on another call

00:45:07 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 5:

one day and i was fixing this lady's dishwasher and so she's and she's an older gal and she's probably late 60s something like that 70 i don't mean to offend anybody you know for that kind of yeah no that's older and uh she's we were talking about all kinds of things and she her dog was like this thing like if it could it wanted a piece of me and she's like keeping this thing at bay and she's like yeah he's just uh you know he's really ramboyed i'm like yeah i'm like some dogs you know they're just they're not obedient this and that and she looks me right dead in the eye and goes, I'm very obedient. Oh, God.

00:45:52 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 4:

I better get the hell out of it.

00:45:56 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm curious. Brad, I don't know if I've ever seen a picture of you. Are you a good-looking guy?

00:46:00 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Would you like to see what Brad looks like?

00:46:01 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:02 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 1:

Brad, can I share a picture with our listeners of what my friend Brad looks like?

00:46:08 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 5:

You can, yes. You have my consent.

00:46:10 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 1:

Is it possible? Can I do the shirtless photo of you from... Yeah.

00:46:15 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a good one. Yeah, can you send that to me?

00:46:20 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 1:

He put a picture of himself on a vacation recently. So this is Brad right here. So that's my buddy Brad right there with his wife, Julie. Oh, I have seen a picture of you before. Yeah, he's a great-looking guy.

00:46:29 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you are a good-looking guy.

00:46:30 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but send me that picture. I want to post that one for the listeners.

00:46:36 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Here's my question about the panty lady. Yeah. So the panties were there when you walked in. so what if the the guy that came to like what if you were just like a fat ugly guy you know what i mean she really must have had high hopes that the guy that was going to walk in her door was

00:46:51 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 5:

hot or do you think she saw you through the window i have no idea but i have to tell you like and they were pretty affluent people so it's like i i truly believe that they get you know They start reading these books and whatever, these romances. I mean, I think they get bored and, like, I don't know.

00:47:15 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 1:

It's just a fantasy. You think so?

00:47:17 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay.

00:47:18 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Dave the Schwanz guy is on the phone with us right now. The Schwanz guy, Dave, have you ever been hit on, Dave?

00:47:26 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 3:

I worked with them for six years. I had three solid offers from different homes. And all three times I put my tail between my legs And went back out and left

00:47:38 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 2:

What was the boldest offer that you had, Dave?

00:47:44 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 3:

I had one lady asking about a certain ice cream peach flavor And asked me how I like to eat a peach That's a normal question I had somebody that wanted to straight up trade The act for the product

00:48:02 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 1:

What product was it that she wanted?

00:48:05 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 3:

Just her order. Oh, so the entire order. Yeah.

00:48:09 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 1:

And you can't do this because if you do it, you know, you'll get yourself fired, right?

00:48:13 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 3:

It's an automatic fire if you got caught, you know, a swan guy. Every swan guy's got a story about seeing something it offers, but nothing was ever worth half. Oh, my goodness.

00:48:24 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 1:

I never realized that swan guys get hit on. Lee is our hot plumber. Remember our hot plumber, Lee? Are you there?

00:48:30 - 00:48:31 | Unknown:

Yes, sir.

00:48:31 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm here.

00:48:31 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 1:

The hot guy plumber here You're on the phone with my buddy Brad Who's the hot appliance repair man And you have been hit on before?

00:48:40 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh well I mean We went over that last time I was on the air But yeah I mean Shoot I got My sugar mama Which I met on the job This was 8 years ago She ended up putting 15 grand down On my truck for me

00:48:57 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 1:

Wow

00:48:58 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 4:

All because I let her make the move And I was single at the time

00:49:02 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 1:

I want to go to that house By the way, Brad sent me the picture This is the picture I see it

00:49:11 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

I sent it to you guys

00:49:13 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

So you guys can take a look at it That's Brad So Brad posted this on his social media It's a picture of him That's a thirst trap

00:49:21 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 2:

That's a thirst trap picture right there Brad If I've ever seen a thirst trap That is one

00:49:28 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 4:

So I'm going to have to take hints from Brad on how to do advertisement for my future company that you guys have talked me into getting.

00:49:35 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Brad, we told this guy right here that he's changing the name of his company to Hot Guy Plumber, and he's going to make money off of this whole deal. That's what you need to do, too.

00:49:43 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 5:

That's right. That's right. We all need to just pull our pants up so they can't see our cracks anymore. That's right. Throwing a baseball? What are you doing?

00:49:53 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 1:

You're throwing a baseball in that picture, Mike. You're welcome. It's amazing, isn't it?

00:49:57 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm throwing a baseball on my 13-year-old kids on the other side.

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 4:

But why is your kid not in the picture, too?

00:50:04 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, I didn't take the picture. My wife did. He's an all-American boy.

00:50:12 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Karen wants to tell us real quick. Karen, this is more than blatant. What happened, Karen?

00:50:20 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 1:

It was the most awkward thing. The satellite guy was here to repair the dish. And as he's leaving, when the job was done, he opens up his wallet. Claiming he's going to give me his card He grabbed the card and I saw him Grab the condom, I didn't know what it was Until he flipped his card And the condom out on my counter Oh my gosh What did you do or say? I I looked at him with Like that dagger look in my eyes Because I'm a very faithful gay girl And I I just He's like oh Oops but I'll tell you what I called, and I had it noted on my account that that happened, but I have not had the ability to watch HD Dish since he came in the summer when the trees grow, the Dish needs realigned. I'm not having them come back. I've been wanting to tell you guys that story for a while.

00:51:22 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 4:

All right, Karen. Thank you, Karen. I appreciate it. Brad, we'll talk to you later. You have a good day. Don't get hit on. You got a beautiful wife at home. Julie's gorgeous.

00:51:32 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, thanks, buddy. If I do, I will call the morning show.

00:51:36 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you.

00:51:38 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Warm weather. Smell that? That's the smell of your dog's poop that's piled up over the winter. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:47 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 4:

All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Mike in the gym parking lot altercation? Is that what happened then?

00:51:59 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. So yesterday I was at the gym, and I was wearing this Metallica shirt that I had. It was just a workout shirt or whatever. And I had my AirPods in, my AirPods in. And this guy walks up to me, and he points to my shirt. And I got music on, so I can't really hear him. And he does it really fast, so I don't really have a chance to take him out and chat with him. He looks at my shirt, and he goes, F your shirt, and walks away.

00:52:23 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 2:

What?

00:52:24 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 3:

Right. Exactly. That's exactly what I did. I went, uh, what just happened? I look around like to see, like I thought somebody was messing with me at first and I look around and there's nobody around or whatever. And so I'm like, okay, like I'm just going to go back to doing whatever I was doing. So then I go to leave the gym and I'm in the parking lot and this dude walks back up to me and I'm like, in my head, I'm like, okay. In the parking lot, he comes up to you. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I'm right outside the parking lot. I'd be freaking out. It was the middle of the day. Like it was like, like two o'clock. So I was like, you know, the worst that's going to happen is he's going to yell or I didn't know what his what his problem was. So he walks up to me and he goes, hey, because in my head, I'm a lot tougher than I really am. And he walks up to me and he goes, he goes, he goes, where'd you get that shirt? And I'm like, what? And he goes, I F with your shirt. And I go, oh, that's what you said. Like, I met like I like your shirt. I F with your shirt. What does that mean? I guess it means I like your shirt, right?

00:53:26 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:53:28 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what I'm saying? I can't say it, obviously, but...

00:53:31 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 2:

I still don't get it. When you agree with something, you're like, I F with that. We're on the same team. I agree. I would still not know who he was talking about it. I still think he was trying to beat me up. This is the first time I saw Cap on TikTok. Cap and no Cap. I was like, what the hell does that mean? But I F with that is like, I agree. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard

00:53:53 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 3:

So in my head when he's saying that When I have music playing All I saw was F your shirt And I'm like what? Who says that? Who walks up to somebody in the middle of the gym And goes F your shirt And then it turns out he actually liked it

00:54:07 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 4:

I gotta be honest In this day and age of people being crazy out there I don't know if I'm walking up to somebody And going I F or anything Or even telling them anything about their shirt

00:54:17 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

I'll be honest though When he laughed after he said that I was like oh thank you

00:54:21 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 4:

Like it felt good.

00:54:24 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 3:

I was like, oh, cool. I like this shirt now.

00:54:27 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny? Guys don't normally do that. You never see guys walk up to somebody and just go, you know.

00:54:33 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 1:

Throw a compliment.

00:54:34 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey, great shirt. You know what I mean?

00:54:36 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:54:36 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 4:

Or I F your shirt or I F you or whatever the thing is. By the way, that is to me like a very bad thing that could happen. Like that actually could turn into something bad fast. if you have no clue what the hell is going on, especially in the middle of a parking lot if somebody comes right up to you and starts talking to you.

00:54:55 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I think they're going to hit me.

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

I always think I'm getting carjacked or something. You know what I mean?

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 3:

oh my gosh i was scared i was in the gym i'm like what like if i was a big dude in like a an aggressive dude i would have thought he said something to me and i would have like said

00:55:09 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 4:

something back but are you me are you a guy in a gym that makes a lot of noise like do you like

00:55:14 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 3:

sit there and like uh if i do i don't know that i do because i have headphones and i don't think so

00:55:19 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 2:

because i cannot handle when guys do that the grunting it drives me crazy yeah no

00:55:26 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 4:

Now, so those guys, is that a turnoff then?

00:55:32 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 2:

Major turnoff.

00:55:33 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So guys that sit there and make noises and things like that. You know? Nothing good about that? Because here's the thing. When I wear earbuds or AirPods or whatever, if I wear them, I don't realize how loud I talk. So I don't realize sometimes how loud I breathe or how loud I make noises, you know? I think it's the breathe.

00:55:57 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 3:

I think I go. That I think I do.

00:56:01 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 2:

That's fine. If you're struggling to breathe. Okay.

00:56:05 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 4:

So we were on the plane back from Tampa last week. Luke and I were. And we're sitting next to each other. And I'm watching something on the screen that they have. The Delta screen. And I turned over to Luke. And he's like, kind of like, keep it down, keep it down. He said this was the level. We're driving home. And he goes, you go, hey, have you seen the Robert Pattons in Batman? And he said at that point It was dead silence on the plane Like everybody was like really cool Have you seen the Robert Pattinson Batman He's actually pretty good But it's a weird movie story That is so you I'm like Oh I don't realize how loud I am Because I got the headphones in And I'm like not really paying attention to the whole thing But I F'd that movie It was a really good movie 844 Mojo Live do we have any people that are right now listening to us at the gym are you at the gym checking us out listening to the show 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 do you want random people to come up and talk to you in the gym no I agree with Megan and Mike on this one I don't know I don't want that

00:57:16 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 5:

when I walk on by girls be looking like Debbie Fly I pick two to be I feel like there's a code too

00:57:26 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

If you have headphones in

00:57:28 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't want to be talked to

00:57:30 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 4:

Headphones in means Don't F with me You know what I mean? Don't talk to me I don't want to have a conversation I don't want anything going on

00:57:41 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 5:

Can you picture Mike

00:57:46 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 4:

Listening to this song?

00:57:49 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, we know that he listens to We don't talk about Bruno It was a troll soundtrack Oh that's right It was a troll soundtrack I couldn't remember what it was I knew it was a kids movie

00:58:04 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 4:

Hi George How you doing this morning? We're good buddy What's going on?

00:58:10 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 5:

The thing is with those airpods I find myself singing out loud Really? I don't realize how loud I'm singing So I'll be walking And I'm rocking out Singing The next thing you know And people are kind of looking And it's like What are they looking at? Then I realize That's me I'm singing out loud Like I'm at a concert

00:58:31 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 4:

What kind of music Are you listening to? Because we want to compare Your gym music To Mike's gym music

00:58:36 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 5:

I listen to like 80's dance

00:58:41 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay Alright Like Prince Or something like that Like you know 1999 And things like that Backstreet Boys Backstreet Boys, little 90s Alright, there you go They probably wouldn't say out loud That's alright Mike, go ahead, tell George your playlist

00:59:00 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, what's that Justin Timberlake troll song Dance, dance, dance Can't fight the feeling That's on there

00:59:08 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 5:

You can't help but sing out loud You know

00:59:12 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 4:

But tell them about the I asked for the troll soundtrack

00:59:17 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 1:

See, I'm a psychopath who sings just on the breath exhale, so it's like, and I'm just like whispering to myself the entire workout like a maniac.

00:59:31 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 4:

You know what, though? It's probably good you do it in V. I feel like that's what you're supposed to do. Yeah, you're supposed to. You're doing it to how you look.

00:59:37 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but if you look over and you see a giant tomato bobbing up and down on the football, just mumbling for an hour, you think something's wrong with that girl.

00:59:45 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 5:

Do you find yourself trying to, like, dance walk when you're, like, on the treadmill? Oh, no.

00:59:52 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 1:

Here's what I do. I do, if somebody can do a Broadway production for two hours, I can stay on this elliptical for 45 minutes.

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 2:

Have a great day, George. Take care of yourself.

01:00:03 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

You as well.

01:00:03 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll see you, man. I never know if I'm supposed to breathe out or breathe in. Like, you know how it's like. As long as I'm breathing, I'm good.

01:00:12 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 3:

I think it's both.

01:00:13 - 01:00:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, you're supposed to definitely breathe.

01:00:15 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 4:

Mike from Mojo in the Morning. You know, the only real man on the show. He can throw a football, change a tire, and light a campfire. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:00:24 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 2:

If you were listening earlier this morning, you heard that there was a pre-show meeting argument that took place between, believe it or not, our producer, Ellen, and our favorite friend from Toledo, Megan. And it was all over topic selection. Megan wanted to do a topic that Ellen did not want to do. And it was, you know, probably a good calling out.

01:00:51 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, stop!

01:00:54 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

But guess what? She gave in to her friend. And she's now going to be able to do the topic. This is the topic, you guys. This is it right now.

01:01:04 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 3:

So much pressure. I know. I know. I need your help. If you're listening right now, I beg of you, text in to 95500 or please, please call us so that this doesn't flop, okay? Because there's a lot riding on this right now.

01:01:18 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 2:

This is the topic.

01:01:22 - 01:01:23 | Unknown:

It's not going to be good.

01:01:24 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 2:

That everybody has been waiting for.

01:01:26 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 3:

It's not going to be good. But you guys, I need to be rich. I need to be rich so bad because my heart was broken. I am getting over COVID right now. And when you have COVID, there's nothing you can do but watch television. And one of my favorite books of all time, this is going to tell you a lot about myself. And I never like telling people what my favorite book is. but I will because it's important for this. Please don't judge me, but my favorite book of all time is called The Time Traveler's Wife. I absolutely love it. I want to get a tattoo for this book so bad. I love it, I love it, I love it, love it.

01:02:03 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 2:

What is it about?

01:02:04 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

So there's a terrible movie made that is a poor representation of the book, but it is about essentially a time traveler's wife and her life of living and falling in love with a man who time travels, and he doesn't have control over it and the chaos that consumes their lives. It's very religious, it's very political, it's very philosophical, it's very, very interesting. It's just a great book. And HBO did a series on the book, and it might be, at least the first two episodes, the best translation of book to television or book to screen that I'd ever seen. They were taking pages out of the book, word for word, and recreating it in the show. It was so incredibly good. I fell in love with the show the entire first season was the first half of the book they just cancelled the show and were never going to get the ending and if I was a rich person I would fund the entirety of the show just for it to be finished I am heartbroken I found out about this while I was sitting on the toilet because that's what I do I sit on Twitter while I'm going to the bathroom I started crying in the bathroom on the toilet when I found out that they are not going to be finishing this book, and it is killing me that they have canceled the show.

01:03:28 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 2:

So real quick, I'm very sad to hear about your show. And it sounds like a fabulous book.

01:03:33 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 3:

I hate you.

01:03:34 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 2:

But where's the topic that you wanted to do?

01:03:37 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 3:

What got canceled too soon? There are too many shows. Oh, Christ.

01:03:40 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

You're right, Ellen.

01:03:42 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 3:

That ended up canceled. And I know somebody out here is mad about Firefly being canceled after one season. I never watched it, but I know people were heated. Yeah, somebody out there.

01:03:49 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 1:

And we'll do it with that sentence. You were right, Ellen. I think we should vote. I think we should vote as a show if we all think it's a good topic.

01:03:56 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so we're going to vote on is the topic, what show were you most upset, got canceled? Mike, good topic, bad topic? Oh, it's bad. Shannon, would you like to weigh in? I don't think it's bad. Thanks, not bad. You're just trying to make sure that you can take care of Megan's feelings. No, it's very personal to her. It's character development. Reese, deciding factor, our director of social impact here.

01:04:21 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 4:

I think it's a great topic. You're so full of fun. Thank you, Reese. One of the best topics I think I've ever heard. Give us a show.

01:04:26 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Then give us a show, Reese, if you think it's that good of a topic. What show got canceled too soon?

01:04:30 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Jersey Shore. It's my go-to. Jersey Shore is still on, isn't it? Didn't they reboot it? No, now they're not. Not the OG one, though.

01:04:37 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:04:39 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 5:

You guys, please help. Megan, do you want to know my shows? Yes. Okay, since nobody else. There was one with Nene Leakes from The Real Housewives Called The New Normal that I loved It was only on for like a season or two And then there was another show It was like on NBC called Suburgatory Loved that one Got cancelled after like two seasons Yeah

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

By the way, there's a reason that these

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 1:

shows get canceled i just want you to know that they don't cancel good shows freaks and geeks got

01:05:04 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 4:

canceled and that was one of the best shows ever made so that's not true great all right fantastic

01:05:09 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 1:

name a couple others what other ones genuinely can you veronica mars you want to throw one of those was that uh chris and bell yeah i think so yeah that show was that was on for a long time that was one of the hannibal's one of the ones i'm googling right now shows that were canceled too soon and the number one out of all these ones is a show i didn't even i never even knew about

01:05:29 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 4:

what firefly that's literally what it was one of the biggest controversies that this show got canceled that's what everybody was saying can you get that drop ready that's just um i quit this

01:05:39 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 1:

bitch because i'm ready kirsten uh your show that was canceled too soon uh i just megan you just

01:05:48 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 5:

informed me that the time traveler's wife is canceled and i'm crying at my desk right now i i am so hurt i feel your pain it's such a good show it was so good how can you only That is half of the book. You have to finish the book. I feel like I'm at a book club right now.

01:06:04 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Is this what people do at book clubs, neighborhood book clubs? All right. What's up, Lauren? Hi.

01:06:10 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 4:

I hate the show.

01:06:12 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Megan, I called for you. So there was this show on Netflix. It was called Terra Nova or something, and it was about people who time traveled, like, into a different reality because the world was ending, and it was like dinosaurs. It was as dramatic as The Walking Dead. It was like four seasons. They left on the craziest. It was so good. It was my favorite.

01:06:35 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 1:

Notice all these shows have a common denominator to it. They're all kind of common denominators.

01:06:40 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. Great. Great. Thank you for inputting that.

01:06:43 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, guess what? We got two phone calls on Megan's topic. Is this a great thing?

01:06:48 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 4:

I love you.

01:06:50 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:06:53 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 4:

so doja cat has made one thing very clear on twitter she is not here to make more pop music here's the thing at this point doja i'll take any music or a redo of the tour you're supposed to go on with the weekend yes yeah i'm still salty i spent that much money to see just the weekend and i love the weekend but i would not have spent that much okay if i could be friends with any celebrity, it would be Doja Cat. Would it be? Yeah, she's hilarious. Are you kidding me? She's so wacky. I love it. She took to Twitter on Saturday to say no more pop. She wants to prove that she's more than pop music. She wants to work on a rap verses to prove that she's a powerhouse. She also tweeted out, I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasn't trying to prove anything. I just enjoy making music, but I'm getting tired of hearing y'all say that I can't do it. So I will. We love the were queen.

01:07:51 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you think she's just run out of ideas, like pop ideas? Or do you think that she really just wants to go away from the pop music?

01:07:59 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Here's the thing. Have you ever heard her song, I'm a Cow?

01:08:03 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:08:04 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 4:

You can't listen to that rap and tell me that she's not good at rapping. Because that might be the most perfect rap ever written.

01:08:10 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 2:

She's not a lyrical genius, a poet of our generation.

01:08:14 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 4:

She said that pop music just doesn't excite her anymore. And I just want to know, baby, is that because you haven't performed in years or put out new music? I don't know.

01:08:22 - 01:08:24 | Unknown:

I don't know. I'm so blah, blah, blah, blah.

01:08:24 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 4:

I also, I just really love her. And I'm really mad at her. That's what it really stems from. Two women, Gwen Hunter and Denise Shipes, who accused boxer George Foreman of sexually abusing them when they were minors, have challenged him to a lie detector test. They claim to have passed their own lie detector test and want Foreman to take the test with the same examiner. Hunter and Shipes sued Foreman back in August of 2022, alleging that he groomed and abused them in the late 1960s, early 1970s. He filed a countersuit against Hunter, accusing her of intentionally lying to gain money. The two women say that they want to clear their names. They're considering a separate defamation countersuit against George Foreman. The timing of this comes ahead of the release of the new biopic, Big George Foreman. So far, there has been no comment from his reps on this whole situation.

01:09:13 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 2:

So he's getting grilled on this all?

01:09:14 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

We shouldn't make jokes. Students that attended Donda Academy, a.k.a. Kanye West's Donda Academy, are going to have a really hard time going to other schools. So one of the teachers currently suing the school. Now, this is the same one that brought it up to our attention that the school was really only serving sushi for lunch. Well, she's saying that the students are severely behind educationally. But by moving somewhere else, you might not actually be fixing the problem. These kids have not been graded and they're at an unaccredited school. So transferring or transferring is going to be super, super difficult for them. She's suing for being fired after calling out the school's flaws and also saying that race.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 3:

was a factor in that decision.

01:10:01 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Didn't he only let them eat sushi during the day? Like one meal and it was sushi?

01:10:06 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This is the same woman that brought that to our attention. Oh, my God. I'm so sorry for those kids. I know, I know. But also, like, what parents put their kids in these schools?

01:10:18 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, at the time, beforehand, you thought it was like an accredited, amazing school because it was Kanye. No, this was before Kanye went downhill.

01:10:26 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes, a scholar of our time, Kanye West.

01:10:29 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 3:

but he was before never accredited it's not like they had accreditation and lost it they were never

01:10:35 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 4:

accredited i still would have before all of this i would have sent it's like a uh he's like he's a genius outside of him being crazy and saying ridiculous things he's a musical genius he is

01:10:46 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 2:

stop it i need you to stop you would enroll cecily in donda academy not now no but over doja cats i'm

01:10:54 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 4:

cow or if i had to pick kanye's you know masterpieces that he did create i would choose kanye back then not now back then i don't think you should admit that i don't think you should

01:11:05 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 2:

even be proud of admitting that that was a hot take and it was not the right one

01:11:09 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 4:

i don't understand how because i'm not saying now i would send him there i'm saying back then i would

01:11:17 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 3:

send him there you do you mike you do you um can we actually get very serious because i'm really angry about something really quickly here because um i'm genuinely so angry at the da's office from la because harvey weinstein harvey freaky weinstein was flown first class commercially from la to new york in normal everyday clothing and the da's office paid for it i'm so why so freaking mad the da's office said weinstein was returned to new york via a method we typically use pursuant to our extradition agreement with new york i call malarkey on this one okay y'all let all criminals who were sentenced to 16 years in la for sexual assault on top of his 23 year sentence for a rape conviction in new york to fly first class in normal clothing yeah right yeah right i'm freaking sure you do okay how does that even happen we do not love that

01:12:14 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 2:

I'm mad. I'm mad.

01:12:16 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 3:

And to cleanse the palate for my fellow millennials, even though I am on the cusp of Gen Z, and I will not listen to Mike's rebuttal on this. Millennials, I do have good news. This is not a drill. Our favorite toxic couple is finally giving us the reunion we all deserve. The producers over at Jersey Shore have somehow convinced Sammy Sweetheart and Ronnie to get back under the same roof again to film. Okay.

01:12:39 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good grief.

01:12:40 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm here for it. The new season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Are you ready for this? Because you're going to lose your mind. It's taking place at Margaritaville in Orlando.

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 4:

Of course it is.

01:12:51 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 3:

It makes absolutely zero sense. And I'm here for it. They're shooting the upcoming season right now. They're all there. Snooki, The Situation, J-Wild, Paul, Yaddy, Vinny, and Deanna are all there with Ronnie and Sammy. Now, quick question. Can you imagine trying to explain this show to our grandchildren in 50 years? No.

01:13:09 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 4:

All right, Susie, sit down. There was once a guy. His name was Mike the Situation, right?

01:13:15 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 3:

There was a grenade whistle.

01:13:18 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

They had a duck phone. I don't know why, but they did.

01:13:21 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Ronnie hasn't been a full-time cast member for several years ever since his arrest and his domestic violence issues. Sammy hasn't been on the show since 2018, but they are back together again. Check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

Mojo in the Morning. Lydia, you got to come in studio on this one here because so today's like a today's like a mom's day where moms moms need to be guests on the Mojo in the Morning show because we had KP's mom on with us. I think we're going to need to have Lydia's mom on with us to Lydia's mom's like the sweetest in the world.

01:14:06 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, I love her.

01:14:07 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 1:

The thing that's funny, for those who don't know who Lydia is, Lydia is one of our producers here, our associate producer of the show. She also is director of our Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish and helps us with so many great things. She works on our promotions team here. She's got like a million different hats that she has. But most importantly with Lydia, Lydia has the greatest parents in the world, but she wants to call out her mom for something that I guarantee you as one of our listeners, you do. And Lydia thinks it's rude What is it Lydia? It's so rude

01:14:39 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 5:

So me and my mom were shopping at Target A couple of days ago And as we were leaving you know we were putting the groceries In the car together And I kind of gave her the reins On taking the cart back to the cart rack She was pushing the cart I got in the car I'm watching her and I'm seeing her Lift the cart up on a curb And I'm like what is she

01:15:00 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 3:

doing what is she doing so i rolled down the window and i'm like you're gonna put that back right and she's like no it's fine but you can put it back and i'm like mom that is so rude she's like no it's not she gets in the car and then i get out of the car and put the cart back myself

01:15:13 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 1:

good for you i felt so bad good for you first off i got a lot of things i need to say to this okay number one tell me you put the cart back now number one why are you making your mom have to put the cart back in the rack you haven't even think about you have younger legs that's true that is you should be doing hold on lydia's mom's on the phone with us right now wow i can't believe she

01:15:36 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 2:

would call you out on national radio disappointed in you mom wait what oh mom wow you are one of

01:15:46 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 3:

those people she is not gonna let this go no i'm not she was so nervous when i told her i told you Guys, she's so nervous. She's like, they're going to think I'm a bad person.

01:15:56 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I do. Totally changed my perception of you. I thought you were a lovely woman.

01:16:04 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 1:

How close was the cart corral to where you guys were? Because I'll make a judgment after that.

01:16:08 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 3:

It was literally five steps. Mom, wasn't it? No, it was not. Oh, it certainly was, Miss Girl.

01:16:15 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Lydia. Lydia just sent us a picture of this. Look at the picture. Look at it.

01:16:19 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 3:

Look how she positioned it up on the curb.

01:16:21 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though? I give you credit on this As a nice human being You could have just left it in a spot Where a person would get dinged in their car

01:16:29 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

It took more effort to get it on the curb Than it would have to just push it into the cart corral

01:16:34 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 3:

Right She literally pitched it up there with her foot She just had it all up on there

01:16:40 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 4:

Alright Are you done Lydia because now it's my turn

01:16:44 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah go you go

01:16:45 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 3:

Your turn

01:16:46 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay so I saw a lady in a car That was getting ready to turn and parked, like, kind of right next to us. So I took the cart, put it on the corner of the curb, stuck it in the grass, and said, Lydia, she will go grab that cart and walk right into Target. She'll be fine. She's not going to go walk down to the carousel to get her shopping cart.

01:17:09 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 1:

So you were just trying to grab a fresh cart inside the store. You were just trying to be nice and give her a new cart.

01:17:15 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Mom, come on.

01:17:17 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 1:

You know what I love, by the way? My favorite people are the people who will see you at the cart, and as you're going to the cart, Corral will go, you know what, I'll take that up for you. And I'm like, oh, you are the sweetest, kindest people ever. That is so nice. I blame that woman for not walking by you and saying, can I take that cart up for you?

01:17:33 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Right. You just want Doma. That is why you're sucking up to her.

01:17:37 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 3:

Stuff like that makes me feel bad. Like, that's someone's job. Now they're going to have to, you know, play a cart game across the parking lot.

01:17:43 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 1:

Lydia's mom recently made my family a big pot of Doma, which is like stuffed grape leaves and things.

01:17:50 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't get any, which is why I am not defending you.

01:17:52 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 1:

We aided for weeks. I'm never going to tell her that she's done anything wrong.

01:17:55 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 2:

Get her.

01:17:56 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 1:

She's my favorite. Spencer wants to say something. What's that, Spencer?

01:18:00 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy.

01:18:01 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Lydia, you need to respect your elder. At least she put it up on the curb so it didn't roll into a car. I would have left it in the middle of the parking lot. That's true.

01:18:10 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'll give her that. I'll give her that, Spencer.

01:18:12 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 1:

That is true. She actually was kind enough to make sure that, you know, everything was safe, right? And I was looking at where you put it, Spencer, from the picture, it was just next to the first parking spot. Is that your car right in the first parking spot?

01:18:25 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:18:26 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 1:

Way to get a first spot at Target. That's unbelievable. And I also will notice this, too. It was nighttime, which means it's dark, and for safety reasons, do you want your mom to get, you know, carjacked in a parking lot of a Target?

01:18:41 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 3:

I could see the car wreck. Like I said, it was five steps. I could have easily jumped out of the car and rescued her if she needed it.

01:18:47 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 1:

Lacey, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hold on, Mom, real quick. Let me grab Lacey, and then I'll let you speak to Lydia. You've got to give it to her, okay? Okay. You're not, by the way, young lady. I'm talking not to you, Lacey. I'm talking to Lydia. You're never too old to get punished by your mom. Go ahead, Lacey.

01:19:06 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do what you said. I take parts from people and pick them up with me,

01:19:10 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

and when I go to Total Wine, because they're always so attended, I go in there and pick up orders for DoorDash. I'll go with the corral, grab a whole line of them, and take them in with me.

01:19:20 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 1:

What a guy. Give him an applause. Gentlemen, right there. Thank you. By the way, say hi to Lydia's mom, Lacey.

01:19:29 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Lydia.

01:19:31 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you doing? Yeah, she's a kind one.

01:19:33 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 4:

How are you?

01:19:35 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 1:

Don't you want her to give Lydia a little piece of her mind? Go ahead, Mom. Give her a piece of your mind.

01:19:41 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So this is what I have to say. Lydia, do not make any plans this evening. We are going grocery shopping, and you are going to put my cart right there. Yes.

01:19:51 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 3:

You got it, Mom. Right posted up, right on that curb for you.

01:19:56 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 4:

Right back your cart.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yep.

01:19:59 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Actually.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

Reese said he'll go grocery shopping with you because he's hoping you might buy him a few. Yeah, what time?

01:20:05 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 4:

Come on, Reese. Let's go.

01:20:07 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

Let's go. Reese, you would never do this to your mom. You're nice. I would totally do this.

01:20:12 - 01:20:13 | Unknown:

Oh, thank you.

01:20:14 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Coming to my dear friend.

01:20:15 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 1:

Your mom's brought you into this world. How dare you guys. And she can take you out. With a shopping cart. Leah, what's up?

01:20:23 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I worked at a grocery store. and while I was in there, I watched not once but twice someone not put their cart back and then hit my car with the cart because it rolled down the parking lot and hit my car not once but twice.

01:20:40 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 1:

How did you get through on the phone line? That's not nice. We were making Lydia look bad on this one. Now you just made Lydia's mom look bad. What's up, Amanda?

01:20:50 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 4:

For some of the workers, that's the only break they get is to go out and get carts. They get away from the register or stocking. They need some fresh air, so some of them don't mind going out and getting carts.

01:21:01 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm taking it that you are a person that leaves your cart right in the middle of the parking space that I really want.

01:21:07 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 4:

No, I take one in, and then I leave it off to the side, but I'm done. But I've been told I've worked at a lot of retail stores and grocery stores, and I know a lot of people, and sometimes it's the only break they can get is if they need to go out and get carts.

01:21:21 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

See that?

01:21:22 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, either way, they have to go get carts because they have to go get them in the corral.

01:21:26 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, but they like to also go out there and have a cigarette, too, every now and again. See, the mom is doing the Lord's work, really. That's right. Always. All right, Lydia, be nice to your mom. You want to say goodbye to her or tell her you love her or anything like that?

01:21:39 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 4:

I love you, Mom. I'm so sorry. I love you, guys. We love you.

01:21:46 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 1:

Smartass daughter. I thought only sons were like this. I didn't realize daughters were so mouthy with their parents.

01:21:52 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 4:

Marjo, don't you need a daughter?

01:21:54 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 1:

I do. Chelsea's already said that. Chelsea's already said that she would adopt Lydia and KP. She loves these guys because she's like, man, being surrounded around these girls, it's so much nicer than the boys that we have, you know?

01:22:09 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 4:

How about this?

01:22:09 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 1:

Why don't we do this? I'll trade you. This is like a trade, like, you know, the Tigers do. I'll trade you Luke for Lydia, an L for an L.

01:22:18 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 3:

Any day.

01:22:20 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 1:

Luke loves your dog with the tongue that hangs out of its mouth all the time.

01:22:25 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 3:

What do you call him?

01:22:26 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 1:

I say that he looks like he's like, I don't know, a couple of nuggets short of a Happy Meal.

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Unknown:

So true.

01:22:40 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 1:

You should see this dog, you guys. By the way, this dog tries to jump up on the couch and then hits the bottom cushion. He can't get up on the couch. I just sent a picture of him. It's amazing. All right. Getting ghosted sucks. Second date update is at 820 On Mojo in the morning Every morning show in the country has done an interview With Jack Harlow but ours And I don't get jealous over the stuff Because we don't normally do a lot of interviews on our show But I like Jack Harlow

01:23:07 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 2:

We've had him on

01:23:07 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 1:

01:23:09 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 2:

Yes, because remember I went to school with his cousins And so he used to spend He used to spend summers On Graciel

01:23:17 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 1:

That's a long time ago That was pre-pandemic Like, nothing I remember is from pre-pandemic. I don't remember anything that happened in our lives post, you know, or pre-2020.

01:23:33 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you think we're going to change our time instead of, like, B, C, and A, D? We're going to add, like, a PC, like, pre-COVID?

01:23:39 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 1:

You know what? I think so. I really do. Megan, honestly.

01:23:43 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 2:

Because that's how I feel like life is right now.

01:23:45 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:23:46 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 2:

Like, was that before the pandemic? Do you guys hear this growling?

01:23:48 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 1:

Is that your stomach again? No. What is that?

01:23:50 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 2:

It sounds like an animal.

01:23:51 - 01:23:52 | Unknown:

What is it?

01:23:53 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm not kidding. That's Reese.

01:23:55 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 2:

It really could be an animal in here. There's all types of things in here.

01:23:59 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, somebody left the front door open for a little bit the other day. Did you hear that as they were moving crap out? You guys don't hear that? There's a beaver or something just running around in there.

01:24:08 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. I'm going to sit with my legs up in my chin.

01:24:12 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 1:

Because I don't want my legs. Are you afraid it's going to crawl up there?

01:24:15 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 3:

It's the skunk from the parking lot. Reese, I will then owe you $20 if you crawl under the table at some point today and grab the flight.

01:24:23 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Has that ever happened to any listeners?

01:24:27 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm kind of nervous too.

01:24:29 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 1:

Have any listeners ever had that where all of a sudden, out of the blue in their house, they're like sitting there on the couch and there's like a varmint. It's like hanging out.

01:24:41 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

I fell asleep on the, I have like a couch, piece of my patio furniture on my front porch and I fell asleep on it one night last summer. and when I woke up in the middle of the night, a raccoon was just staring at me. Come on! I swear to God, I got up so fast. They're vicious, aren't they?

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, honest to God, it scared the heck out of me.

01:25:02 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 4:

Lydia was telling me there's a dead mouse right now in one of the station vehicles just sitting there in the passenger seat.

01:25:08 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 3:

And nobody's getting rid of it? Like, nobody's, like, going out there and disposing of it?

01:25:12 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 4:

Apparently not. Apparently it's just hanging out. Wow. Whose job is that to remove the dead rat? It sure is not mine.

01:25:18 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 3:

I hate to say this, but poor Mark, our engineer, and Randy, they get the crappiest jobs. Like, their job technically should be just to keep us on the radio. like keep the signal working good and everything working okay they've got to like fix people's computers they've got to unplug the toilet now i hope that they don't have that job put a ticket in isn't that what we do yeah you gotta scan a qr scan a ticket yeah oh my god look at all these texters texting in right now shannon don't laugh but we had a squirrel in our house i could hear noises throughout the day everybody thought i was nuts and the squirrel joined us for dinner oh my god 844-665-6548 or text is 95500 another one here 734 woke up in the middle of the night to two beady eyes looking at me and it wasn't my husband I would be panicked what's up Mojo in the morning how you doing oh my god the squirrel's eating through our phone system lines right now I apologize, but you'd call back because your line all of a sudden went crazy. What's up, Katie?

01:26:35 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so when I first moved to Michigan, 15 years ago, we moved into this little, like, lake house kind of vacation cottagey thing, and we were sitting watching TV one night, and I thought out of the corner of my eye, I saw a kitten, and I thought, oh, what's that?

01:26:51 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

And it what?

01:26:53 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 4:

center crawled underneath the entertainment center hold on a second hold on you you went

01:27:00 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 3:

under a bridge or something uh so you thought you saw a kitten is what i lost you at and then

01:27:06 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 4:

okay so i thought it was a kitten and it was a possum in our house oh and those are ugly under our entertainment center i would have did you freak out like did you scream we were standing on our couches screaming and we called our landlord who proceeded to come over to our house sticking 22 under the inner shoes you couldn't really reach it shoot it reach under with a glove grab it out put it in the basket and go there you go

01:27:36 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 3:

wait your landlord came with a gun and shot the thing oh my god and i had just moved to michigan

01:27:45 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 4:

And I looked at my husband, and I said, where did you just move me to?

01:27:50 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:27:51 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 4:

You're good now.

01:27:53 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's a nice landlord. Oh, my God. Christina, what's up?

01:27:58 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

01:27:59 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

We're doing okay. We think that we might have animal living in the studio here because Shannon keeps hearing this noise.

01:28:06 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Years ago, I lived in a, we were renting a place down by the hospital downtown in Grand Rapids. and I came downstairs because I heard a noise and there was a raccoon in my kitchen in the trash can. Oh my god.

01:28:20 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 3:

And I

01:28:21 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 5:

freaked out and ran back upstairs and locked the kids in the bedroom with me and we called 911 and made them come take care of it. They called animal control and stuff.

01:28:28 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

I would have done the same. By the way, I'm going to tell you this. If this thing comes out, I know that I'm supposed to be the man of the house here. I ain't the man of the house.

01:28:37 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 5:

You're running out the door first. I know you. There's something about, where's the

01:28:40 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Franklin's turn? No joke.

01:28:43 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 1:

Down the house.

01:28:46 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 3:

Animals in the last two years, since we've been inside more, have gotten braver. Like, they just don't care anymore. Yeah, it's crazy. What's up, Mojo on the Morning? Hi, Mark.

01:28:57 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up? There was a mole in our house for, like, the past two weeks. And I own a cat, and I couldn't find this thing. And so this morning, I guess the cat found it. I woke up with a dead mole in front of my face. The cat just dropped it right in front of me. Good cat, though.

01:29:18 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 3:

This is the reason why we need cats for stuff like this. Oh, yeah. I ain't hating on cats that are willing to fight for their family, you know?

01:29:27 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. They'll beat the crap out of those things. Oh, jeez.

01:29:32 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 3:

Poncho, tell me that you're close to the radio studios here and you can come help us out.

01:29:37 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 1:

I had a squirrel run in one day when I had my door open because it was nice out, and I don't have a screen door. The squirrel ran in. My boyfriend is sitting on the couch, and all I see is him jumping over the couch, like jumping over a hurdle at the fastest speed he can do.

01:29:53 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Because the squirrel got in. Oh, man. Who's braver, you or your boyfriend, Poncho?

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 2:

It had to be me, because I'm the one who got the squirrel out.

01:30:03 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 3:

Then come by. We're in Farmington Hills, 27675 Halstead Road. If somebody could help us out here. We've had like the craziest couple of weeks here at this radio studios with intruders.

01:30:17 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 1:

That thing surprises me. Oh, yeah. And you just gave the address out like Willie Nill.

01:30:23 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you're a varmint, I hope you didn't write that address down. All possums, don't show up.

01:30:30 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 1:

Did you say willy-nilly? Okay, leave me alone.

01:30:36 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, what would be worse? What would be worse? A possum or a squirrel or a raccoon or a snake crawling out of your bedroom wall? What? Crystal? Yes? Out of your bedroom wall?

01:30:54 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 2:

My bedroom wall. So one year, it was raining really badly. I was living in Florida and I had my husband was sleeping and I was taking the baby's diaper on the bed and I seen something in the corner of my eye and I was like, what was that? And then all of a sudden I see the snake just go up and I grabbed the baby really quickly, hugged it and I told my husband, there's a snake on the wall. What does he do? Jump up, puts me aside like a Heisman trophy and just runs out.

01:31:27 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 3:

that's a brave man though that's a brave man yeah but he just doesn't like snakes this is when you know your worth uh in a relationship is will you protect your spouse if if all of a sudden there's

01:31:45 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 2:

like an animal that comes running in your house well i mean even after that like two weeks later he moved back up here to michigan yeah and he's like okay i prepared everything you guys can move

01:31:55 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 3:

up now thanks for the call take care of yourself okay look at all these people it's nuts this is this is really hold on let's see if we can hear it again no i'm not crazy sure right i'll go here i'll shoo it away shoo shoo animal shoo should we do it out of here should we do one of those things where we remember when you were a kid and you thought that you had spirits living in your house and you'd like turn off the lights and go look in a mirror and do all that stuff i still do mary worth or whatever bloody mary bloody mary yes yeah i'll try that

01:32:31 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 2:

thing do you hear any voices saying anything so many voices i take medication for that

01:32:37 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning show phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text 95500 mojo um shannon Megan, Mike, Reese We also have Katie, Lydia And KP here with us right now

01:32:58 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey guys

01:32:59 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 3:

With something that your parents never taught you How to do

01:33:02 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so my grandparents actually Are in Florida for the winter And this week I had to do something That I have never done in my life I have never Taken the trash to the curb On my own Wait a second Hold on a second. You've got to hear me out.

01:33:19 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 3:

You don't have to teach anybody how to do that.

01:33:22 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to get to the part where they didn't teach me how to do something, but I just got to bring this up first.

01:33:25 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Oh, I was going to say, I thought that was what they didn't teach you how to do.

01:33:28 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm teasing what I'm about to do.

01:33:31 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is radio gold. Go ahead.

01:33:33 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So I have been taking the trash to the curb, and I just, you know, I have 800 brothers, so my mom always made them do it. It is so inconvenient to take that, not even inconvenient. it's just an extra step when you get home from work you're like oh shoot i left the trash can out at the curb i gotta take that in before i pull my car into the garage and blah blah blah and then the other day i get a text from my grandma and she's like you gotta um update the software on the washing machine i'm like what do you mean is it a spaceship like why why do i have to update software on a washing machine there's software on a washing apparently they've got some kind of recall or something where the washer's gonna overheat if i don't do this software update So I haven't been washing my clothes because I'm a chronic procrastinator. So that's another thing. Wait a second. You have to pause on that. You can't go over that. What washing machine has software? I don't know. It's like a smart washer or something. Oh, my God. I love it.

01:34:27 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Does it also put the clothes in and take them out?

01:34:29 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 1:

It has a robotic hand that picks it up out of the...

01:34:33 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 3:

No, that would be like the most amazing thing ever, but it's wild. Take a picture of this. I want to see this. Can I say something? It's the small things that excite me now. That I don't even do the software updates on my computer that I was supposed to do all the time.

01:34:46 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 1:

My iPhone is just like sitting there like a brick until it absolutely cannot function anymore until I update it.

01:34:51 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:34:51 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Anyway, so that's what's kind of been on my mind. But it got me thinking, and I think my FBI and my phone was reading my thoughts, and I got these TikToks on my phone.

01:35:00 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 4:

you page teaching me how to load a dishwasher and i'm like you know what i'm not that dense i know how to put a dish in the dishwasher but a lot of people who live on their own for the first time don't know how to do normal household things yeah bro i wasn't taught anything nothing like there are some things like my mom was pretty good about making us like independent and get things done and figure things out on our own but there are a lot of people who i live with who don't know how to do certain things like i'm gonna point myself out here my roommate my old roommate from like two years ago had to teach me how to use a thermostat like that simple things like that and i it got me thinking about something that my parents never taught me as a kid which is so dumb i did not know the difference between left and right when i was in middle school my parents forgot to tell me they didn't do a little thing with your hand and i still put my hand up to do L as a 24-year-old referee.

01:35:56 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 5:

See, mine was the Pledge of Allegiance. You didn't know the Pledge of Allegiance? No, no. That's how I knew that right from left was because I knew my right hand had to go over my heart. Oh, that's so funny. So I would always go, Pledge of Allegiance. Okay, right. So I'd do that.

01:36:08 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Well, KP, you even said, like, I knew how to load the dishwasher. I thought I did. There's this woman on TikTok, and there's a dad on YouTube.

01:36:17 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 4:

They're coming up on your For You page, too, Megan. They are. Maybe they'll teach you to wash your door.

01:36:22 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 3:

Dad teaches you handyman things, how to tie a tie, whatever. I'm going to move right past a KB. I'm sick of you. And then the woman will teach you things about household cleanings, how to get stains out of things. Things that seem so simple. And she showed me how to load a dishwasher. I have been doing it wrong my entire adult life. Some of those hacks are mind-blowing.

01:36:44 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 4:

Megan, you know you're supposed to wash your dishwasher, too. You've got to take all the parts out. You've got to clean out the dishwasher. And you're washing a machine.

01:36:52 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 3:

Even once they teach me how to do that one, I'm not doing that one.

01:36:55 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm not washing my dishwasher.

01:36:57 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 5:

That's when I turn it on. So for me, it was when my kids went away to college, when Joe and Jacob went away to college. Jacob was fine. Jacob could figure stuff out. He was like the kid that would just go to YouTube and figure it out himself. Joe would call his mom or call me every single day to ask for things. And he still does to this day. And I have to tell you that it's amazing how much we failed as parents, that our kids didn't know, like, the simplest of things. And to me, it's embarrassing to think that, and I don't know, hold on, Chelsea's up right now. It's embarrassing to think that I feel like I've had to reteach them how to tie their shoes.

01:37:36 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 4:

Tie your shoes? Lucy's in third grade.

01:37:38 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 5:

She just learned this year how to tie her shoes. Chelsea, quick question for you. What's the dumbest thing that Joe has had to call you or I up for because he didn't know how to do it because we failed as parents?

01:37:51 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, how to use a washing machine.

01:37:53 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 5:

That was it?

01:37:54 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. When he moved away to college, he FaceTimed me and said, how do I do this? How do I turn this on?

01:38:03 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 5:

Why did you?

01:38:04 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 1:

It was his dorm, so it's like it was a brand new washing machine. It was pretty painful.

01:38:10 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Did we fail as parents? I feel like us and KP's parents have failed us as parents.

01:38:17 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 1:

I did everything for him because he played every sport. Like, he was really, really busy. Yeah. And then so I turned around right after I hung up the phone, and I taught Jacob how to do his laundry. Luke knows how to do his laundry. So.

01:38:29 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:38:29 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure I failed in other areas, but I realized right then and there.

01:38:33 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 5:

No. The biggest one with Joe, too, is when he moved to Tampa to take that job. and he didn't he had no clue about financial stuff was the big one like we like he's like a credit card there i have to actually pay for this credit card and you know it was it wasn't

01:38:49 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 1:

that no he didn't understand that they're the finance charges when he started charging up

01:38:55 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 5:

his credit card because of anyway yeah you got yourself i love it yeah all right yeah all right I'm going to let you go. I love you. I'll talk to you later. KP, where's Mama KP at? We're going to have to share stories.

01:39:09 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 4:

I know. You know what? You want me to call her?

01:39:11 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 5:

We can. Absolutely. Real quick, though.

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell her when I dial her up. I'm going to go dial her up.

01:39:17 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 5:

Okay, go dial her up. Adam wants to – we're going to take calls from these people while you're doing that. Adam?

01:39:21 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 2:

Hey, everybody. How are you guys doing?

01:39:23 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 5:

Good. What was it that your parents didn't teach you?

01:39:26 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 2:

So it wasn't me. When I was in college, I lived with a guy, and I went out to buy the groceries, and the agreement was that he had to cook the dinner so i just got some hamburger meat and sloppy joe mix and i was like all right man you got to cook he was like well what do i do and i was like you don't know how to brown hamburger meat and he was like no so i was like well you turn on the stove you put it in the pan and you just move it around

01:39:49 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

but here's the frustrating part about not being taught stuff is that we're the ones that are treated like we're dumb like it's not our fault we don't know it

01:39:59 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 5:

You know?

01:40:00 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 3:

You know what, though? Nobody taught me how to cook. Nobody taught me. Exactly. I mean, cooking is, yeah, I'm a terrible, there's one thing I still can't figure out at almost 40 years old. I shudder when I say it. How in the heck do you hard boil an egg?

01:40:14 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez.

01:40:15 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 3:

Every damn time, it's something different that works or doesn't work. I don't understand. God is screwing with me with hard boiling eggs for my whole life. Put it in?

01:40:25 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 4:

No. All right, Adam. No. 100% with you on that, Shannon. No. I've never agreed with you more in my entire life. Yes. They make a thing. This is what Miss Victor got me because I can't hard boil an egg either. It's called the egg pod. It's a made-for-TV thing. You put it in this giant egg-looking thing. You put it in the microwave. You turn it on for 10 minutes, and it hard boils eggs perfectly.

01:40:45 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't want one more piece of crap in my kitchen.

01:40:47 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 5:

You have to teach her how to do that. You know what, Adam? I'm with you on this one. I observed my sisters and my mom when they would do things, and that's what got me to do things. Yeah. Nobody taught us.

01:41:00 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 2:

Move the meat around and it turned to brown. I couldn't get it.

01:41:04 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy. Yoshi, what's up? What was it that you didn't know?

01:41:08 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 2:

Yo, what's up, everybody? Hi. Good morning. So, I would have to say I learned how to do my taxes all by myself. Okay, now that's a big

01:41:22 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 5:

thing. That is a big one. Because taxes are tough.

01:41:23 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. High school, They don't teach us the important thing when we graduate.

01:41:37 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 5:

Yoshi, they should teach you how to do your taxes, how to balance your bank account, stuff like that.

01:41:48 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 2:

Money is very, very important when you're all by yourself and you have no family to help you balance. your accounts and and and just when when like you get married and stuff my parents my parents never taught me how to do my own taxes yet they know how to do it yeah it's amazing can i tell

01:42:09 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 5:

you that chelsea did have to teach me how to put a bag in a garbage can to rechange it but it wasn't because i wasn't doing it right i wasn't doing it the way she wanted me to do it that's the reason

01:42:20 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 6:

than why Nikki what's going on hey um this is something I failed at as a parent when my daughter graduated high school you know of course we had the big party and um my mother insisted that we didn't just send out regular thank you cards but a handwritten note on every single card and we sat there for a couple hours helping her finish them up and we got done we said okay the only thing we forgot was the stamp so ab you got to go get stamps and mail them out okay we'll do it mom well pretty soon all the all these thank you notes keep coming back in the mail and she had thought that the stamps were the return address labels okay so like a hundred different um thank you notes went out without you know stamps oh my gosh we had to redo every one of them uh we failed

01:43:11 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 5:

failed as parents how about maddie maddie what did you have to teach your roommate how to do

01:43:16 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 7:

hi yeah so it was our junior year of college at michigan state and she had to call her mom and ask her mom how to warm up a can of campbell's soup come on come on kb your mic you turn your

01:43:30 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 5:

mic off they're saying what uh kb you know how to do that right i know how to do that yes i'm sorry

01:43:35 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 4:

oh my god so you have to learn one time though that you can't put metal in a microwave no that

01:43:40 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 3:

Mine was with an Arby's Jr., and I threw that sucker with the foil wrapper in the microwave and learned real quick.

01:43:48 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 1:

I did that prank on my mom where you put the plastic cutting board in the oven, and it melts, and I sent her a picture of that. I didn't do it, but there was a picture, and she did believe me for a hot minute over text.

01:44:00 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 5:

So mom is on the phone with us right now. Mama KP, good morning.

01:44:04 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 8:

Morning, Mojo and the gang. How are you? Good morning.

01:44:07 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 5:

Now, I will say this about your daughter. Your daughter is the oldest in the family, and I know that she's, you know, had to bear a lot of responsibilities, which is good. But there are some things, though, that we forgot to teach her.

01:44:21 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 8:

I don't think so. She just wasn't paying attention.

01:44:24 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say that. It's not that my mom didn't teach me. It was probably that I wasn't listening when she was teaching it.

01:44:31 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:44:31 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 8:

I had a hardcore list, and we did a good rotation, and I am an equal employment opportunity mama. The boys all know how to cook. Kristen, not so much. All the boys take out the trash. I told the girls to take out the trash. Sometimes they do it. Sometimes they forget. Kristen was just busy. KP, she was busy, busy all the time. She had sports. She had theater. She had her own nonprofit organization. She had school. She had honors clubs. So she just was never there to do it.

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 5:

Really?

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 1:

I threw my trash out at school.

01:45:02 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 5:

So, okay, so she was the kid that was the smart kid that, you know, did all that good stuff in school, and then the boys had to bear the responsibilities of picking up after her.

01:45:12 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 3:

I guess. I guess grunt labor for the dumb ones, and then the, I don't know.

01:45:17 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 5:

Which one in the family, and be honest, out of all your kids, which one in your family is ready to be on their own the soonest?

01:45:23 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 3:

i thought it was going to be emily but then she came back and i don't know she can't feed herself she just eats salad and soup um you know what honestly it's probably going to be my seven

01:45:38 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 5:

year old alice i was gonna say i was gonna say yeah that's funny all right well you be uh you you know be good to kp don't be mad at her for putting you on the spot and calling you up to

01:45:50 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I know. It comes with the territory. It's all good.

01:45:53 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 5:

Have a good one. Can I be honest with you, Mama KP?

01:45:57 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 3:

No, lie to me, Mojo. What?

01:45:59 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 5:

If we recorded our Monday meeting, I was talking to Tony about this. You should have seen your daughter owning that meeting and running the show. Tony and I were like proud papas when she was going through. Basically, she was telling everybody to show up on time, start doing your job. She cracked the whip for sure. Oh, it was unbelievable. You know what she was? She was you the first day I met you.

01:46:23 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 3:

She was like this.

01:46:24 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was like, oh, where is that?

01:46:26 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 3:

Never forget, never forget, I am the original OG KP. That's right.

01:46:31 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, shit. I forgot. All right.

01:46:34 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 3:

Keep going, keep going, girl.

01:46:36 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 5:

We'll talk to you later. Take care.

01:46:38 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 3:

Bye.

01:46:38 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 5:

Bye. Producer KP, welcome to this show. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning. All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out what the story is here. Kate, what's going on? How are you?

01:46:58 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

01:46:59 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 5:

How are you?

01:47:01 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so I haven't heard from this guy I went out with, Max. We had one date, and then we hooked up, and I thought we had a good time.

01:47:14 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, you hooked up with him. Yeah. And you think that he would get you at least, you know, another date or something out of the whole deal. Let me ask you first, though, because you kind of like went right into it. When you guys like said goodbye to each other, could you sense that anything was different or did you guys communicate afterwards? Like were you guys talking to each other?

01:47:40 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I messaged him, but I never heard back. Did you guys have plans to go out again? No.

01:47:49 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So when we pick up his line right now, this is going to be the first time that you have talked to him verbally since you guys had sex with each other.

01:48:00 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:48:01 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 5:

Okay, let's pick him up and see what's going on. Why is Kate getting ghosted, and what's the story? Max, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

01:48:13 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's cool.

01:48:14 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 5:

Max, say hello to Kate.

01:48:19 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, Kate?

01:48:23 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey. What's the story, Max? Are you just a busy guy? Why are you guys having issues communicating with each other?

01:48:35 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I don't know. There was just kind of Something unexpected that happened That we never really discussed You know We had sex And the condom broke And we kind of Talked about it She said she's on birth control But we should probably do Plan B just to be sure And I thought that was a good idea

01:49:03 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 5:

Okay

01:49:05 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 1:

Which is all fine But the next day I got a Venmo charge saying Plan B in the label. Like, we never discussed that I was going to pay for that or even split it. And you put Plan B in, like, the label, and it was a public Venmo charge.

01:49:30 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 5:

So on the comments on Venmo, Kate put Plan B on there.

01:49:36 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Everyone can see on Venmo that it says, Kate's plan B, $50. Well, I don't know if they can see the amount, but that's just annoying and just weird, and people are going to see that.

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

So are you upset that she's making you pay for it, or are you upset about the public comment?

01:50:00 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 1:

I mean, like, if we discussed splitting it or maybe me paying for it, maybe I wouldn't care. But we never talked about that at all. I just assumed that I'm going to pay for that. I don't know. I don't really care. But we could have talked about it at least.

01:50:20 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 5:

Comments on this, Kate? Anything you wanted to say?

01:50:23 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 3:

Okay. First of all, I told him that I was on the pill and that I was willing to take Plan B if he wanted, and he said that I should.

01:50:35 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:50:37 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, since I'm already paying for the pill, he can play for the Plan B.

01:50:44 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 5:

But, question, I don't, I don't know, this has got me a little confused here, because Shannon asked the right question of, what are you more upset about? So, when you Venmo'd him, which I think that's fine, I think it's fine that you asked him for the money.

01:51:01 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 4:

Or at least half the money, sure.

01:51:03 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 5:

When you did the Venmo request to him for the payment, do you not think that that...

01:51:09 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Why so personal?

01:51:10 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, do you not think that that might be a little bit too personal to actually report to everybody?

01:51:16 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 3:

Two things. First of all, like, people say crazy things on Venmo charges. I know, but that's a real thing. A lot of, yeah, a lot of people are either, A, not going to read into it. And second of all, I don't think there's anything wrong with trying to be safe after sex. Like, I don't know why you'd be ashamed of that.

01:51:38 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 1:

Truth. It's not that I'm ashamed of being safe after sex. It's just making it public is not really something I hope to do. Yeah.

01:51:48 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 4:

You could have. It just takes one little click to make your transaction private.

01:51:53 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, I've never done a private transaction before. But, again, like, I don't understand, like, why it's something you want to keep private.

01:52:03 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, and also Max could make it private, too. So anything that comes through on his can also be private, too. I don't know where to go with this. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I kind of feel bad that this is all over, I don't know, maybe just communication, just being able to talk to each other about this whole thing. Selena, comments on this? Second date update here?

01:52:31 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it's common courtesy for the guy to pay. I feel like as a woman Taking Plan B messes with your hormones And makes you extremely sick That a guy doesn't have to go through that

01:52:43 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 5:

What about the fact that She actually publicly put Out to everybody what she was doing The Venmo Payment request for

01:52:52 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 2:

I think that's a little tricky It could be really bad but also It could mean so many other things Especially if people don't know the situation Yeah

01:53:03 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm intrigued to know, like, where the conversation comes up, like, in a relationship. Because, you know, I'm a guy who's been married for a while. First time meeting somebody.

01:53:10 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Right? And then that happens.

01:53:12 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 5:

Like, when do you ask that question of, like, when was it brought up? Like, you guys noticed that the condom was broken. And at that point, who said what, Kate?

01:53:24 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he noticed that it was broken and was confirmed. concerned and i told him okay well i'm on the pill and i'm clean uh but again if you want to be

01:53:37 - 01:53:48 | Speaker 5:

extra safe i'm willing to take this and then where did the money where did the money thing come up did you did you guys talk about that or did you just send that to him just assuming that he was

01:53:48 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 3:

going to pay for it yeah i sent it to him assuming it's like i'm already like taking precautions if your method failed, so it should be

01:53:59 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 1:

your responsibility. So, yeah, you're doing a lot of assuming here. You then also assumed that I don't care if that information

01:54:08 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 3:

is public. Again, I don't understand why you do. I guess

01:54:16 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 1:

does it matter why? Yeah, I mean, it does

01:54:20 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 3:

matter if you're making an issue out of it.

01:54:23 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Alyssa?

01:54:25 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I was going to call and say that I think that maybe she shouldn't assume that he was going to pay for the plan B, first of all. And I really think that it was tacky for her to put it public like that.

01:54:39 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 3:

It's not everybody's business what's going on in your Venmo charges, especially something like that.

01:54:46 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I agree. I agree. That's that's where the mistake is, is her post.

01:54:52 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Now, now there are people defending you, Max, and saying or defending UK and saying.

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 2:

He just doesn't want other girls to see that, and he's a douche.

01:55:02 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 3:

Actually, that's Lisa. Lisa, are you there?

01:55:05 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I am.

01:55:06 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 3:

Is that what your comment was?

01:55:08 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. I think she was being so professional with asking him to pay for that. I don't see a problem with that. And just like she had said, plan B could be so many different things. It could be plan B for something else.

01:55:20 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, I actually don't agree with what she did, but I don't know who said that, but, yeah.

01:55:23 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

01:55:24 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay.

01:55:25 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 6:

Well, I feel like there's obviously a reason that he doesn't want her to see that, But, you know, whether it's, you know, other girls, you know, or whatever. I mean, maybe if he would have called her back, maybe they could have settled it. But he ghosted her.

01:55:39 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, Max, were you just upset that that was seen on there and that people who maybe other girls noticed that you were with another girl?

01:55:50 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 2:

Not specifically at all. Like, that's not true. But also, yeah, just other girls, but other people in general. I just, I like to keep that part of my life private. Okay. And I was unable to do that because I was not addressed about this decision. Just like paying for it.

01:56:11 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 3:

So I'm assuming there's not going to be a second date. No. You know what I'm assuming there? And did you, by the way, answer the question of, did you give her, uh, her. The $50. Yeah, the $50 that she was asking for.

01:56:24 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 2:

I mean, the Venmo's charge is still up.

01:56:29 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to pay her?

01:56:31 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 2:

I am willing to pay for it, yes. The main reason I haven't yet is because I don't feel like dumping it on me to do it without talking to me about it is the right way to do it.

01:56:43 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:56:44 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 7:

Well, if you want me to take it. Oh, Lord.

01:56:49 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 3:

That's a bigger charge. Is there a timing factor in that?

01:56:54 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't want you to.

01:56:54 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it's most effective if you take it within five days, and I'm not taking it until I pay for it.

01:57:01 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 3:

Girl, this is a consequence you have to face as well. When was your guy's date?

01:57:07 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 7:

Again, I'm on the pill.

01:57:10 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 3:

And your guy's date was this weekend?

01:57:13 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:57:16 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. Hold on one sec, guys. is he quickly running to go pay his venmo

01:57:24 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 5:

okay before we get into this first story i just want you to know that i texted everybody in the group chat and said i can't believe that i'm the one that has to break this news and i swear to god It just happens to be an accident that I am doing the dirties today when this news is breaking, okay? It's an absolute accident. Swifties, we have good news and we have bad news. Okay, bad news is, looks like Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Joe of six years may have broken up. No. Before people come for me for making a mockery of this, just know that that was KP and Mike, not me. Not me, all right? we've been together for the past six years but if you're a swifty fan kb do you like taylor swift

01:58:21 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 4:

i enjoy her yes but i'm not like a diehard swifty okay so when you hear news like this

01:58:27 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 5:

do you get excited because you know like bomb music and music videos are going to come out of

01:58:32 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 4:

this yes yes for sure but also like i don't know i feel like it's kind of doesn't give me a ton of hope for relationships if taylor swift can't stay in one because she's so like such a badass you know what i'm saying like she's just so cool i don't know how to describe it it hurts me because i thought they were doing well you know i'm sorry this is like i feel like i'm in therapy should i

01:58:53 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 5:

pay you copay uh i would take your money anytime but apparently their breakup was pretty amicable it wasn't uh very dramatic this hasn't been confirmed but apparently joe who goes to a lot of her shows hasn't been to any of her recent shows they haven't been spotted together in a while. The reps are not talking right now, but that's what the room are. And I think if it wasn't true, don't you think she would have posted something like I'm good or like a picture of the two of them?

01:59:21 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she probably would have.

01:59:23 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 1:

I just wanted a more dramatic breakup. I wanted something to have happened. If it's just like, oh, we're not in love anymore. There's not going to be good songs from

01:59:31 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 4:

that. This relationship wasn't dramatic from the start though. I feel like it was very, you know, humble and loving. That's why it hurts.

01:59:38 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, if you want a dramatic relationship, Boy, do I have an update for you. Remember how I told you last week that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were photographed holding hands? And by everybody, I mean me, got very mad at her for getting back together with him. Turns out that Tristan is signing with the Lakers, which means he's going to be spending more time with Khloe and the kids.

02:00:00 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

and people are speculating, you know, is this going to help rekindle their relationship together? Sounds like he's going to get a lot of playing time, too. Not only does he have history with tons of his new and not-so-new teammates because they've played together before, but the Lakers have a lot of injuries right now, so he'll probably be on the court a lot. If anything, it'll probably make co-parenting a lot easier for the two of them, but I am not happy about this. Like, it matters, my opinion, but if you're wondering, I'm not happy about this.

02:00:29 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 1:

Why are you not happy about this?

02:00:31 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 2:

Because Khloe Kardashian is my favorite Kardashian. And I just, I hate that she's circling back to a man that disrespects her over and over and over again.

02:00:42 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Does this mean I can get back with my toxic ex? Because Khloe Kardashian's doing it.

02:00:46 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Every time we talk about it, what do I say?

02:00:48 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:00:48 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not.

02:00:50 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not. Megan, that reminds me, you need to go through my hinge legs again. Tell me who I should accept and who I should not.

02:00:56 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

Like, if you try to meet up with him, I will slash your tires. in a loving kind of way.

02:01:00 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 4:

Slash mine or his? Both. Okay, good.

02:01:04 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 2:

The WWE had to apologize on Friday, and it was for showing photography of the Auschwitz concentration camp where more than a million Jews were murdered. This was played during a WrestleMania promo for Saturday night. The WWE obviously faced a lot of backlash from a ton of people over this. They said that they were sorry. They had no idea the image was used, which I don't think that they get to play that card in this scenario. That, to me, is aggravating of like a, well, we just didn't know. I feel like this is one of those situations where you don't get to pull that. Yeah, how do you not see that? Sorry. No, I agree with you 100%, especially because I feel like this is something that all of us learn about. So, like, how did you not recognize it? The Auschwitz Memorial ripped into the WWE. saying the fact that Auschwitz's image was used to promote a WWE match is hard to call an editing mistake and that it insults the memory of all victims of Auschwitz.

02:02:03 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of a crazy thing because didn't they just sell the WWE? Like, didn't somebody just buy it from, like, from whoever, Vince McMahon or whoever is running the whole thing? So it's like an interesting time for something like this to happen. To pop up, yeah, that's kind of weird.

02:02:17 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

K-pop fans, this one is for you. Blackpink is going to be one of the final three acts to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden, their popular carpool karaoke segment. This is announced on Friday. The K-pop girl group has previously appeared on the show back in 2019 just to perform their single Kill This Love. I think all of us, no matter if you like the artist or not, loves carpool karaoke. Yes. Yeah. Other musical guests for the segment's farewell have not been announced, but the rumor is that Adele is going to be the last guest and the final episode is going to be airing on April 27th. Anybody here sad to see that show go? Yep, that was my response as well. I'm sad that carpool karaoke is going, but the show, meh, whatever. Absolutely whatever. And the last thing I got for you before we head on out is a criminal investigation has been opened by the Department of Justice over a batch of what appears to be classified military documents that were posted online over the last few weeks. The documents appear to be on very sensitive topics, like ways Israel could provide aid to Ukraine, intelligence about the United Arab Emirates' ties to Russia, and South Korea providing ammo to the U.S. for Ukraine. There's still a lot of questions about whether or not the documents are real, but U.S. officials have confirmed that at least some of them are authentic. So if you're wondering, okay, where were these posted? On a Discord channel devoted to Minecraft. And a lot of them have been posted for a long time. Eric Toller is a researcher at Bellingcat, and he said that the documents were sitting in a Minecraft Discord server for a month and nobody noticed. A Discord user who posted the photos of the documents on March 1st has apparently deleted their Twitter and Discord accounts. But, like, how does that get out, and how does it stay out for that long?

02:04:08 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 3:

Terrifying. That's all I have to say, that they're using platforms for that purpose. Absolutely right.

02:04:13 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely right. Check out all of T.A.'s Dirty by going to the Dirty page at Mojo in the Morning That's MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:04:48 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. Who's this? This is Justin. This is Justin. Yes, Justin. Where are you calling from? Weberville. What do you got going on today, man?

02:05:00 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 2:

I just dropped the kids off at school. Yeah, well, congratulations. You got something to tell them after school. You just won Adam Sandler tickets. Congratulations. That's so cool. Are you a big Adam Sandler fan? Oh, yeah. Loved Adam Sandler since he first came out. Justin, do you dress like Adam Sandler? It's kind of funny. I do. I wear sweatpants and sweatshirt and slippers everywhere. Oh, perfect. Just like him. We picked the right person. And thank you, Lydia. You guys are awesome. Congratulations. Yeah.

02:05:43 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to sound like Megan here right now. I am an awful person. I am a terrible, awful human being. I am the worst. I always love when Megan will set up one of her topics and she'll do it that way. And I go, oh, my God, here she goes. And now what did she do?

02:06:02 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 1:

I just want to make sure if anybody new to the show listens in for the first time and hears me talk about the things I normally talk about, you should know that I already know that I'm garbage.

02:06:13 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm competing with you as far as garbage is concerned today, okay?

02:06:17 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:06:18 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 3:

All right. So I got busted stealing from my son. And I don't know if any parents do this. I don't know if any parents are like this. Luke if I said that Luke I stole from Luke's piggy bank he would first off not only kill me for the fact that I stole from him already and he knows that but that I called his thing that he has money in his piggy bank it's not a piggy bank it's an I want to go on record to say this it's an old pair of Jordan Nike box it keeps his cash in which I feel bad giving that away because if anybody's ever in my house they're gonna go through and they'll see like an old pair of air force one box you know like the the nike box for uh for that and you're gonna go in there and it's gonna be like you found grandma stash rolled up bills man right there dead presidents boom boom boom right does he save a lot of money so so luke has been so he's been door dashing okay so that's been one of the things he's 17 years old for those who don't know And he is one of those that I don't know where he gets his money. Like, I have no clue. I know his grandma sends him cards, and randomly they'll be like, you know, 50 bucks or 20 bucks in there.

02:07:33 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:07:33 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Like, she's really, you know, generous to him. But I also know that there are times where Chelsea and I will give him money to go to do things, and we find out later that he did not go to any of the things that we told him. here's the money for and he just stashed the yeah like like he'll say he's going to the movies with friends and then we'll find out that luke will convince his friends not to go to the movie and just hang out because he wants to save the money that we gave him to go to the movie it's kind of smart it's actually kind of interesting isn't it it's like his own little investment uh thing that he has going on so i needed cash and i needed it fast and i didn't want to go to an atm i was like you know running out of the house and i i needed to have like because the the place i was going to and i don't want to say uh what it is the dispensary nice doesn't accept you know it doesn't accept credit cards there and i don't want to use the atm that's at the front of it because they charge like a ridiculous fee for me for using the uh the atm inside there

02:08:35 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 1:

it's like stupid money is that like you can only use cash yes okay yeah it's cash business Can't put it in the federal bank.

02:08:43 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. So I stole from my son so I can go get it. And I feel horrible about it.

02:08:52 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

I don't see anything wrong with this. I feel horrible. Well, because you're going to put the money back, yeah?

02:08:56 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah.

02:08:58 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 1:

I wouldn't if I were you. Let's be honest. That kid's gone into your wallet.

02:09:02 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 3:

You have just surpassed me as the horrible person on the show.

02:09:03 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Well, okay. I'm going to be really honest. I take money from my dad all the time. Yes, of course I do. I know where his money's stashed in his house. Like, this is bad. This is so bad. Well, I guess it's not really there anymore because he's moved so much stuff out. But when I go to, like, put his garbage can away, like, if he's traveling, I'll take his garbage can and put it away for him because I'm a good daughter. But while I'm there, I might stop by his piggy bank and reward myself for doing something nice. Oh, my God. That is so funny. I also know where his, like, huge thing of quarters is. And when I live downtown, I go to park downtown a lot, too, in random places. Oh, that man paid for my parking for a year.

02:09:52 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Nice guy. I don't see anything wrong with it. He gives to you, and you're still taking from him. You're still stealing from him.

02:09:57 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

But you best believe if my dad needs to be a kid.

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 6:

did cash for something and my purse was on the table, I would expect him to go in and grab cash out of my wallet.

02:10:06 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Alright, I want to ask this question because I just googled right now parents taking from their kids piggy banks. Did those old PSAs pop up?

02:10:15 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

Those old like, this is your brain. This is your brain. With a fried egg. Yeah, and it's a dad stealing money from his kid to get edibles.

02:10:26 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 3:

Listen to this. 46% of parents say that they have taken money from their kids, piggy banks, or savings accounts, and never told them about it. Oh, really?

02:10:36 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 1:

See, I always get found out when I do it. Really? Yeah, because Luz has these three jars on her dresser, and one says save, one says spend, one says share. And everything in the spend is already gone, because girlfriend spends it at Target. So she, like, keeps a very close eye on the other two, and it's mostly change. So she sees, you know, bills are missing. Yeah. Then she outs me on it. She knows it's me. And her new rule is, and she's smart, I pay her back double. Interest. I have to pay interest on it. So if I take five bucks, got to give it 10.

02:11:12 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 3:

That's her ATM fee. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want, like, legit, I want you to call out your parents right now that stole from you. Did your parents ever steal from your piggy bank and you found out later? Or are you a parent that's willing to admit that you take from your child's either piggy bank or, in Luke's case, his shoebox full of cash?

02:11:41 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 2:

When I was a kid, and obviously it wasn't legal back then, but my mom found my weed stash in one of my dresser drawers and took it and kept it for herself. But I couldn't say anything because I would get in trouble if I said, hey, did you take my weed? And I found out years later Like graduating high school She's like You know that weed stash And I was like you took it didn't you And she's like yeah I took it I 100% took it and smoked it

02:12:08 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 3:

As a parent you can do that You can confiscate and nobody will ever complain about it Because you're not supposed to have it What's up Amber

02:12:15 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 5:

Hi

02:12:16 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 3:

How you doing are you willing to admit it you horrible parent you

02:12:20 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 5:

I am I take my 8 year old crayon bank all the time Do you

02:12:25 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 3:

How much money is in that Cranbank?

02:12:29 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 5:

The kid probably has over $100.

02:12:32 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And do you return the money, or do you forget sometimes to do so?

02:12:37 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 5:

It's 50-50. If I have extra money laying around, I'll put a little bit in there, but he don't notice.

02:12:43 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:12:44 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 5:

Anyway, so I figure what to compensate.

02:12:47 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 3:

So do you feel like if you're spending the money on him, then you're not as guilty, right?

02:12:55 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. I can borrow a little bit back.

02:12:58 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good job, Mom. Hey, what's up, Katie?

02:13:08 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 6:

Hey. So I took money from my four-year-old because I didn't have any cash in my eight-year-old box of tooth. So I took money out of my four-year-old's piggy bank to pay my eight-year-old.

02:13:20 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

so little did your child know they were the tooth fairy that day oh mom that's all right we'll we'll forgive you for this one okay

02:13:33 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 4:

all right bye what's up linda good morning i'm telling you i'm a horrible mother my son i was just taking maybe five or ten dollars from his little stash and i was doing this like maybe once a week. I didn't know the little guy had $500.

02:13:53 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man.

02:13:55 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Did you get busted? He started crying. He was crying. He came to me crying saying that somebody took his money.

02:14:04 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 3:

And we know who it was. By the way, your kid... It was his brother and sister.

02:14:11 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 4:

I didn't say that, but it was his brother and sister.

02:14:15 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. shannon has uh found out something very tragic about her relationship with her boyfriend wes and this could be a a dooms situation for this relationship am i thinking i think i'm allergic

02:14:31 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

to him i really do why do you say that agrees with me um i because i don't know what the heck is going i first of all i have really bad allergies in general okay i have really sensitive of skin. I have asthma. I'm a big mess. I have been since I was baby. But every time I'm around him lately, especially my face swells up like a balloon. My eyes get this red itchy rash all around them.

02:15:00 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 5:

I get hives on my cheeks. And by the way, yes, he does have a dog. He has a Frenchie named Willow. And I've talked about this before. I am allergic to his dog. But this is happening even when he leaves his dog at home or we're out. And he is so careful about making sure he washes his hands. He changes his shirt. So it's not like he hugged the dog and then came over and hugged me. And, you know, then I'm having some sort of reaction.

02:15:23 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

Is the allergic reaction that you have when you're around the dog similar to this reaction? Or is this more This is different So we're ruling the dog out

02:15:33 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 5:

It happened the night before last He came over with his daughter And we were just hanging out And we cooked dinner and stuff And all of a sudden it started happening And his daughter Sam goes What's going on with your face I am allergic to your dad Something's going on And it does not get better until he leaves And I take a Zyrtec and then I feel better I'm telling you Really

02:15:54 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 2:

So has this ever happened to any listeners Have you ever found out that the person that you were in a relationship with, that you have some kind of an allergy to or you're allergic to them?

02:16:07 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 5:

It's got to be something that he's, like, putting on himself, I'm thinking, and not him, him. Although he probably wishes that I was allergic to him, and that's his out. But I do think it's, like, a product of some sort. Wait a second.

02:16:22 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 2:

Go back to that for a second. He's not wanting to get out of this relationship, you funny girl. No, but still.

02:16:29 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 5:

Like, really, something's going on, and I've got to figure out what it is because it's driving me crazy.

02:16:34 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. And you are the most allergic human being ever. I know.

02:16:41 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 5:

I'm allergic. Like, I touch something, and I get hives immediately.

02:16:44 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 2:

Didn't you one time on our show talk about you had to use special condoms because you were allergic to condoms?

02:16:48 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 5:

So I have a pretty bad latex intolerance, and it kind of comes – I was going to say it comes and goes, but it comes and goes. But yes, and for a chunk of years, it was really, really bad. And so I couldn't even wear, like, bras or underwear or bathing suits that had elastic in them because a lot of that is made with a latex component.

02:17:14 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. And so are prophylactics? I don't think it's prophylaptics, but I think it's one of those things.

02:17:23 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 5:

As Dr. Werner, the show gynecologist, says protection.

02:17:26 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 2:

Protection, right.

02:17:27 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 5:

My grandma said rubbers.

02:17:29 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Rubbers. I love the word rubbers better. All right, so I don't know. I wonder if Wes has got a new cologne or maybe there's a new soap.

02:17:38 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 5:

He doesn't wear cologne.

02:17:40 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

Does he have like a new lotion or does he have? I have no idea. What kind of soap does he use? He's got to use Dove or Ivory.

02:17:48 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 5:

No, he uses Dove, or he uses that stuff from the Goodfellow, the Target stuff that they sell at Target.

02:17:54 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you something about that Goodfellow stuff. That Goodfellow stuff I was allergic to.

02:17:58 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:17:58 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I got it. Maybe, I don't know. Might have to. It was like Goodfellow, and it was like some kind of like an ochre or something. And I was like ivory ochre. I don't know, something like that.

02:18:08 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I say I'm allergic to my boyfriend. I'm really not kidding. I mean, it's funny, but it's not funny because it's not fun.

02:18:14 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 2:

Audrey, what could it be?

02:18:16 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 5:

hi um is it maybe his laundry detergent or fabric softener something like that maybe yeah it could be i don't know i were it's i feel like that annoying girlfriend that we're gonna have to start going through the process of isolating different things to try to figure

02:18:33 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 4:

out what it is if he loves you he'll do it is it didn't he just have a mustache that he had to shave off is it something to do with uh the shaving cream or does he use anything on his face

02:18:45 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 5:

He does, but I don't even know what the heck it is.

02:18:49 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 6:

Could you imagine somebody breaking up with you because they don't want to change their lotion? That would be the worst blow, would it not? Oh, like, I love you, but I love my Tide more.

02:19:00 - 02:19:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but what if it was a makeup thing? What if somebody was allergic to your makeup and they said you can't wear their makeup anymore? Yeah, Megan, what would you do?

02:19:06 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'd break up. Well, yeah, but it's me, so I'd break up with anybody for any small reason.

02:19:10 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's a very personal question, but I'm asking this for investigative purposes. Where is the rash on your body, comparatively speaking, to where Wes has been hanging out near to your body?

02:19:24 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 5:

I just had my face.

02:19:25 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 2:

So it's just your face?

02:19:26 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like really around my eyes is where it happens.

02:19:30 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 2:

So it's not like he's cuddling up against you and it's getting, you know.

02:19:35 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:19:36 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 2:

It's something that it's airborne. Corey, hi. Shannon is allergic to her boyfriend.

02:19:43 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

thoughts well you caught my attention uh years ago i was watching a program on television and they had talked about this exact thing and they said that all of our bodies secrete like different oils and chemicals and yes people can be allergic

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 2:

each other really secrete is the greatest word ever by the way oh it's as bad as leakage or moist

02:20:07 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 5:

yeah secretion first time call i love you guys hope uh hope everything goes well for you yeah

02:20:13 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 2:

if not are you single and would you like to date shannon and do you use no lotions

02:20:17 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 5:

well i don't know if my wife a 33 years

02:20:21 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 2:

i'm not gonna mess up that relationship we'll see you take care of yourself 33 years that's a long time um just bubble wrap me at this point i think that maybe maybe it's not him no it's totally me what would you do i'm telling you i'm so screwed up no i know but maybe it's not him that you're allergic to maybe it's maybe it's something else that's there at the house it really happened

02:20:45 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 7:

this it's not i mean i'm not joking every time he comes over every time i'm around him it happens

02:20:50 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 1:

lately so something's going on can you fix your own allergies because like there's this girl who's allergic to carrots on tiktok and every day she's been eating more carrots so that she's not allergic

02:21:00 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 7:

to them anymore i think you did that shannon didn't you well so i'm anaphylactic to avocado which is so random um but i mean i've been hospitalized for it twice but there are like

02:21:12 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 1:

ways you can desensitize yourself to things my daughter's allergic to eggs or was really really super allergic to eggs and then we just slowly started to like bake it into things and she's not as bad anymore so i don't i don't know what it's called but yeah you can you can kind of uh make the the allergy go away so to speak it's crazy to me that something can kill you and you're like not if i eat you enough yeah all right ellen just came up with a great topic to

02:21:39 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 2:

set to segue to because this would be interesting and i know shannon joked about this but what's the pettiest reason that you dump someone has anybody ever dumped someone because they said they got a rash when they were around or otherwise what what is the pettiest reason why you ever dumped somebody 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 we will not judge you yeah a lot what what what did you what did you you know did they come up with maybe uh maybe they broke up with you for why they were why they were dumping you that's that would be i'm looking at some of the uh the text messages of different things that people are are asking shannon questions about her rash like what does your rash look like is it three or four dots like people i have like different like analyze rashes that are all over the place puffy hi amanda hi mojo hey what's going on

02:22:39 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 3:

pettiest reason why somebody dumped you my it wasn't me but it was my best friend dumped her man because he would wear jeans everywhere and she continued to tell him to stop wearing jeans She hated them, and he never stopped, so she broke up with him.

02:22:54 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 7:

Were they just bad jeans, like bad-fitting jeans, or what was the deal?

02:22:59 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't like men who wear jeans. Oh. That's hilarious. It's not my type.

02:23:04 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 7:

So what does she want him to wear, slacks?

02:23:07 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like...

02:23:08 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 7:

Chinos, khakis, dockers. Shanty pants. Sweatpants. Sweatpants.

02:23:14 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Put them in sweatpants. John, what's happening?

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 6:

Hello, sir. How are you?

02:23:19 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Good. You're the petty person Why did you dump someone?

02:23:23 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 6:

Beautiful girl It was her laugh And the only reason why I had to Because when we went out to dinner A bunch of friends She started laughing And even when we were being intimate The laugh I just couldn't get over I would start busting out laughing During, you know, bedroom time She would laugh So she would laugh like this This far as close as I can get to it We sat there and someone said a joke And she went I was like, what in the hell was that? And I couldn't get over it, so we're serving instant. I looked it out in her face. All I could picture was a hoo-hoo-hoo. I'm like, oh, God, I can't do this.

02:23:58 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

John, why is she laughing in the bedroom? What were you doing to make her laugh?

02:24:04 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 6:

You're showing PG. I can't say that.

02:24:07 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. What's going on, Kay?

02:24:11 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Good morning, you guys.

02:24:13 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

02:24:13 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to go ahead and tell you before I clocked into work. So I was dating this guy for a second, and I'm kind of anal about going to people's homes. So I went to his house, and the first time I went, for some reason, he would come in, he would get comfortable, and he would literally sit down and take one sock off and leave one sock on. So at first I'm like, okay, maybe he just forgot. So I went over to his house, and he did it again. So I dumped him because is that not weird?

02:24:40 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that is weird.

02:24:41 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I don't understand.

02:24:43 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 2:

Why is he only taking one sock off?

02:24:45 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 4:

i don't know and i didn't want to ask because i didn't want to be like why you i don't know i just didn't want it was weird but he literally i swear to you guys he would literally take one sack off and leave one sack on and then like a few months later after i like seen him on facebook he was talking about it like yeah there's no way i can go to sleep without having one sock off and one sock on so thank god wow maybe he didn't have toes on a

02:25:10 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 1:

foot see that's what i would peel the sock off i've got to know megan wants to know did he have

02:25:15 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 7:

all of his toes all 10 toes that's a that's a really good question you should have counted

02:25:21 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 4:

yeah this is weird behavior like i don't like this is so weird yeah we did it both times and And then he went on his Facebook about it. I was just like, yeah, okay, I caught that.

02:25:34 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 7:

Lacey, hi.

02:25:36 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 2:

Hi, morning. Good morning.

02:25:38 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 7:

You were the one that got dumped by the petty person.

02:25:42 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so because I don't like hot dogs at all, I just go to baseball games with and eat a hot dog. And I was like, why can't I just eat a cheeseburger? I like concessions fan cheeseburgers.

02:25:54 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 7:

so because you didn't like hot dogs the guy ended up dumping you yeah that's what he said oh my god that's awful thank you for the call appreciate it jace hi why did they break up with you i broke up with them actually oh really

02:26:14 - 02:26:49 | Speaker 5:

yeah what happened why um so it's kind of bad i couldn't get over how their nose like looked on their face at first it didn't bother me but over time the more we like you know got closer and stuff i just i couldn't handle it and i felt so bad really so that what was wrong with the nose was it just awkward it just it didn't fit their face and i know that's a really weird thing to say that's so mean i know and i felt so bad oh my gosh i just i i couldn't get over her nose and it

02:26:49 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 7:

just yeah yeah she had a bad nose wow that's wild nikki yeah hi how are you hi so i was broken up

02:27:01 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 3:

with because i did not put the mouth mouthwash cap back on correctly i'm not joking either

02:27:07 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 7:

really wait so what was wrong with the way you put it on i didn't always put it on perfectly

02:27:14 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 3:

and maybe, you know, was off a little bit. And also the toothpaste, he said that it wasn't perfectly extracted outright, so he was pissed about that too.

02:27:26 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Please tell me that this guy is still single.

02:27:29 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's got a bunch of kids, yeah.

02:27:31 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I kind of hope that that would be the case. He didn't deserve you. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

02:27:37 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Mojo. Have a good day.

02:27:39 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 7:

channel 955 104.5 snx and 92.5 kiss fm it's the mojo in the morning show and megan with a topic here this morning that is making me wonder megan are you a snooper

02:28:04 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, but we already knew that. But I don't actually feel like I'm a snooper when it comes to this specifically because I did see it from the street. And I feel like if I can see it from the street, that's not like snooping. I wasn't in your bushes looking through your window.

02:28:20 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 7:

Well, wait a second. Hold on a second. You were outside of your house?

02:28:24 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 1:

No, I know what you're thinking. Wow, she left the house? It was only to pick up food.

02:28:28 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 6:

It was only to pick up food.

02:28:31 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 1:

That's the only time I leave my house. I legit walked outside the other day and went, oh, it's spicy outside. It's hot. I got to get back inside. So in my neighborhood, all the houses are like super small and super old, like bungalows. They're cute. Cute houses. I love my neighborhood. But the one thing about them is that pretty much everybody's living room is on the front of their house. You know how, like, when you go to those neighborhoods and everybody has a giant window in their living room and you can just see into their entire house?

02:29:06 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 7:

You can see what they're watching on TV?

02:29:08 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, that's the thing. Now that everybody has these giant televisions, I'm always trying to catch what people are watching because it tells me so much about you. So even if I don't know who you are, like, I know who's got the kids because I see Cocomelon on some of the televisions. I see Bluey. I see it all. So I'm like, they've got some kids. And, yes, I am hip and cool. Can you tell I have nieces and nephews that are young? Because I know what palpadre is. Yeah, I was proud of you. But I was driving down the street, and I was eating some of my french fries, and they weren't delicious, in case you were wondering. And I look out the window and I was like, damn, that's a nice television. And then I thought, well, the image is so clear, I can see those boobies perfectly, because there were naked people on the screen doing naked people activities.

02:29:55 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 7:

What were they watching?

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Naked People Activity Movies.

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, porn.

02:30:00 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 3:

Porn? Who watches porn on their TV?

02:30:05 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I don't know because nowadays lots of television shows have some sexy scenes in them. So how do I not know, well I know what Game of Thrones look like, but you know what I'm saying. Like Sex Life, for example. Yes, there are plenty of adult shows that have those in them, but I just kept thinking if you knew what you were going to watch, Close the blinds. Why does everybody so publicly show their intimate scenes to the whole neighborhood?

02:30:36 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 3:

And can I go one step further from that? You cannot watch porn on your family television. No, I disagree. You're infecting your television.

02:30:43 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 4:

No, I disagree. You cannot do that. No, no, no.

02:30:46 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 3:

Porn is only to be watched on your phone or an iPad. You got 4K, though. You got a 4K TV. You are not.

02:30:53 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 4:

Some of us.

02:30:53 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 3:

Porn does not come in 4K.

02:30:55 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 4:

Some of us have 65-inch screens, and let me tell you, it's fine, okay? Just make sure that when your windows are as thin as mine, the volume is turned down very low and the blinds are closed. And as long as those are taken care of, then you're fine. Yeah. See, I'm so guilty of, I don't watch porn.

02:31:13 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 3:

You watch porn on your TV? I don't watch porn on my TV.

02:31:15 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 5:

Let me very quickly say that. Of course she doesn't. But I do watch. I told you guys the story about... Oh, that is such bullcrap. You know that's not bullcrap. I told you guys how twice I have been kind of bitten in the butt with one time I was watching Sex Life. And if you have not seen that, is it Netflix? That's porn. It's a, I mean, it is. It's. That's money porn. And then I saw like this little 10 year old girl in my yard just staring at my TV because there were, there were movies and butts on it. And then the time that the police were patrolling my house, because remember I had that kind of creepy stalker situation. And so they were doing patrols of my house and I was watching Bridgerton at like one in the morning.

02:31:52 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 4:

and that gets that gets a little dirty the first season what was that italian movie on netflix that we all watched for like a week oh wasn't it like 365 days or it was like numbers right

02:32:03 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 3:

something like that like that's porn all right so so i i need to ask like multiple questions to this one multiple questions are have you ever caught your neighbors watching porn or you know caught somebody watching porn um because anytime you drive down sometimes you know 96 or 75 you'll see somebody you know in their car and have it on and you're like that guy's just driving down the street yeah like what's that sorry about but then the second thing is you cannot watch porn i'm gonna stand on a hill on this one here okay you cannot watch porn on your television if you especially if you have family like you have children and stuff you have do a mother in

02:32:47 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 5:

the room yeah i know but what if it what if it like does it show up on a history mike no well like i think i feel like my kids are all my kids know how to work my tv better than i do i feel like they're like all in and out of these apps and stuff that it would like show up in a history i'm

02:33:00 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

not you can do like a browser type thing and they don't go on the browser and you could clear the

02:33:05 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 3:

history i've only done it like a couple times but you can do it i'm not worried even if it shows up on a history i am worried about the fact that the next time that you're sitting around and you're watching a family fun television show with all the kids there it could be ingrained in the

02:33:23 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 2:

pixelation of the television in my mind when you shut the tv off it resets the whole thing like it's a new tv basically so it's cleared everything this is this is actually audio right

02:33:33 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

this this is actually audio of a child looking at their blue it's a show called bluey or watching bluey and then looking up at the tv and saying mommy what is a vagina yes by looking at that that is an audio of a child looking and seeing ingrained in that pixelation red what's happening

02:33:53 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 1:

buddy big red yeah yeah how's it going mojo good to have you back on what's going on yeah when i first searched uh during swans during training uh me and another driver walked up to our house for their delivery, and they were sitting there on the couch, butt naked, having sex. Really? Going at it.

02:34:16 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. And did they have, like, some porn going, too? No. Oh, it was just them. Having sex right down the couch. And what delivery service are you again, sir?

02:34:26 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 1:

That was with Swans.

02:34:28 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 3:

You were Swans. Okay. What do you do now? What kind of service do you do now? DoorDash. So you're DoorDashing. I forget about that with the DoorDash people I'm sure they've seen so much All the different services They walk up to homes And if you've got to be careful of what you're watching Like that particular house, Megan Could you imagine if they DoorDash something And they have that going on

02:34:50 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I got hungry after those activities So I get it

02:34:52 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Red

02:34:53 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Red, for being the only person to laugh at that one

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. Oh, Red.

02:35:02 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys.

02:35:03 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 1:

Red, real quick, one last question for you, okay?

02:35:07 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:35:07 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 1:

How long did you sit there and watch them having sex before you knocked on the door to give them their delivery?

02:35:14 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. We just sat back and rung the doorbell, and nobody came, and we walked away. Oh, good, okay. We're not finished.

02:35:18 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, making sure on that one. All right, take care. What's up, Randy?

02:35:22 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 6:

so back in the late 90s when we had cable vision and all the remotes were the same my brother would turn porn on the neighbor's tv and walk it through the kitchen

02:35:34 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 1:

that's the best remember that when you're when your cable remote worked your neighbor's television too that's so funny how old were the neighbors were they old people uh yeah i feel like they're

02:35:48 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 5:

100 now so they must have been at least in their 60s 70s that's hysterical what's up sarah hi yes

02:35:55 - 02:36:25 | Speaker 4:

good morning good morning so my neighbor across the street when i lived in an apartment actually had his windows open while watching porn oh my god so you could hear it too you can hear it the blinds were open and it was nighttime it was unbelievable that's like awful that that's that's going on in your neighborhood right did you yell anything in the window at him no i was i was in shock i was like what the heck is going on and then i went back into the house

02:36:25 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 7:

i have children yeah close your windows what's up ali hi mojo hi so i my neighbor i used to work with him and then um i came home one night at one in the morning from work tired as hell i walk out of my car and i look over windows and blinds wide open to this man full-on watching porn and you can hear it and you can almost see going to town and i'm just standing there like oh oh gosh and every day i see him looking dead in the face we have conversations and i still to the day cannot get out of my mind that night oh my god anybody that was around could have seen because every blind

02:37:13 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 1:

was open it was almost like he wanted everybody to see it's the worst the worst part is taking your garbage out or bringing your garbage cans in the next day you know what i mean oh it was so bad

02:37:23 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 7:

the next day because he was out gardening and i went out gardening and i'm like nope i can't do

02:37:27 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 1:

this cannot uh what's up uh brad hi hey how's guys doing good what's going on so i know you're

02:37:38 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 2:

talking about worrying about the history or popping up uh after watching some porn but if you aircast it right jp near your screen you don't have to worry about it oh geez spoken like a true

02:37:47 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 1:

expert there you go so so if you have uh what's aircast what sir what's that i i know apple's like screen sharing, but what's Aircast?

02:37:56 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Oh, is that what it's called?

02:37:58 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:37:59 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:38:00 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So that's the way that nobody knows that you were watching porn. Advice there. What's up, Matt?

02:38:07 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on?

02:38:08 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 1:

Nothing much, man. How are you?

02:38:11 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm all right, man. So, yeah, I got a neighbor, man. He plays, well, he turns on the Super Mario Brothers, and you can hear the porn in the background though you know he got that's his cover-up you know what i mean he does this pretty often you know you can just hear the music just going to super mario brothers song wait a second

02:38:34 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 1:

he's got super mario brothers on to try to cover up the sounds of the porn but you can still hear

02:38:39 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

the porn there huh yeah yes you can absolutely hear it that's funny i love it that actually is

02:38:48 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 1:

That's pretty cool. Don't you think that Megan should, on her way home from work today, just go up to the neighbor's house, knock on the door, and just say, hey, how you doing? Just to see what they're all about, the poor neighbor.

02:38:59 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I definitely would if I was you, Megan.

02:39:01 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 7:

That is weird. Somebody I've never met before, and then just go up to their door randomly later after this is happening.

02:39:09 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 1:

Just say to them, say, hey, I saw you watching something the other night.

02:39:13 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 7:

I'm looking for a recommendation.

02:39:17 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning. I went back to Chicago, what, two, three weeks ago or something like that. That's where I grew up in the south side of the city of Chicago. And I went back and visited a whole bunch of buddies. And one guy that I reconnected with that we went to grade school and high school together had the craziest story happen to them over the weekend that I want to see if any listener can actually tell us if this is a common or an uncommon thing. my grade school buddy who i just saw called me to tell me that he was engaged to be married yet i didn't even know he was dating anyone when we when we met and saw each other which when was when was the fourth holiday my dates are a month ago so a month ago all right yeah when we dated or when we went to got together he had nobody in his life because i asked him i said are you dating he goes occasionally but nobody's serious i said are you dating anybody no you know he's like really not really into that over the weekend he sends me a text that he is engaged and his engagement happened when he got drunk he met a girl two weeks ago so within a week or two or so after i had seen him for the first time in years and we got together and they got drunk engaged over the weekend and i said are you guys like like drunk engaged like you're not gonna get married because you were drunk when you did it he goes no we're gonna get married wait did he have a ring he went and got a ring he got a ring. Here's the thing. He went and got a ring because he knew that he was going to ask her not to get engaged. This guy, by the

02:40:55 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 2:

way. Oh, please don't say it was a promise ring. You know how I feel about that. What's wrong with promise rings? In high school? If you're a grown

02:41:03 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 1:

ass human being, you should not be promised a promise ring. Okay? Okay? Promise rings are okay, Megan. Please, no.

02:41:09 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 5:

I want a promise ring. No, I want promise Louboutins. I want a promise. Very different. Very different. I want all the promises. A promised car.

02:41:20 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 1:

So over the weekend, over the weekend, they were partying and they were having fun and they were drinking and they had some friends over there. And he had said something about the fact that he met this girl. I grew up south side Chicago. There's a city called Crestwood that's there. Nothing for the added value of the story if you don't know what the area is. Crestwood to me is kind of like Warren here. And he goes, I found a Crestwood girl. That was his joke that he said because he found a girl that he said was a down-to-earth girl that wasn't into high fashion and spending crazy money.

02:41:55 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 2:

She was not materialistic, didn't put a lot of emphasis on that, sure.

02:41:58 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 1:

And so he said, I finally found her, and they were sitting there drinking all weekend long and having fun with friends. And on a drunk whim, he proposed to her, and now they're getting married. And I love it because it's the first time this guy's ever been married. And so this is his, you know, going to be his first go around with this whole thing. And most of us have kids that are, you know, in my case, my kids are hell almost grown. You know, I got a high schooler, but the guy is getting married. And so we're all talking about that on a group chat. All of us from high school are talking about the fact that should we even plan a bachelor party? Because we don't know if it's going to go through or not. Because he literally just met. Has that ever happened to anybody where you just meet somebody within a couple of weeks? you get engaged and your engagement happens when you're drunk remember 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text is 95500 i'd love to uh i'd love to hear your story so do i wait they're talking about their their the thought is next summer is when they're gonna get married they want to do summer

My cousin was actually on the show, Married at First Sight, and he's been with the same girl for six years.

02:43:44 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 1:

Are you serious?

02:43:45 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So I've never actually sat down to watch that show. How long did they really know each other before they got married? None? Like minutes?

02:43:54 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 3:

They didn't know each other at all. They didn't know each other at all. They met at the altar.

02:43:58 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 2:

And so that really is true? Like there's not a behind the scenes there?

02:44:01 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:44:01 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Nope.

02:44:03 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 3:

Which couple was it? Anthony. I don't know if I really want to say the last name, but...

02:44:11 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 1:

But they were from Michigan or Ohio?

02:44:16 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

No, one's from Chicago, one's from Michigan.

02:44:19 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Wow. Why do you watch that show, Megan?

02:44:22 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 5:

I did. I watched one and a half seasons. It's interesting.

02:44:28 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Kirsten? Yes. How you doing? I'm doing good.

02:44:33 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 4:

How are you?

02:44:34 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 1:

Where are you? You sound like you're in... Are you in like a factory or something?

02:44:38 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm actually headed to Toledo I'm from Maranci

02:44:44 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 1:

What's that noise though? What are you Are you on the highway? On a bicycle?

02:44:54 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I'm on a bicycle

02:44:57 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

You're on a bicycle Sounds like the water Are you okay?

02:45:03 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 3:

Actually, so I met my husband through a friend, a mutual friend. Yeah. And, like, wanting to get married, like, a month into our relationship. And then we got married six months after we met.

02:45:22 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe you can be spontaneous. I'll be honest. You guys are that spontaneous of people that you guys got married that fast.

02:45:32 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we've been married for eight years. Oh, that's wonderful.

02:45:35 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 2:

And you guys are together. That's cool. Yeah. You're not really on a bicycle, are you?

02:45:40 - 02:45:41 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:45:42 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 2:

The key to that marriage is great communication. Erica, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:45:50 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys.

02:45:51 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's happening?

02:45:52 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 4:

I was with my husband at a bar. We were probably a month or two into our relationship, and he took his watch off of his wrist, put it on mine, and said, well, you marry me while drunk. We did eventually get really engaged about a year later, but, you know, I just thought it was a sweet moment.

02:46:10 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Wow. When he did it, did you keep the watch?

02:46:14 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 4:

He still has it somewhere, but he doesn't really wear it anymore because now he works in, like, the construction industry. So, you know, but it's somewhere in our house.

02:46:21 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 2:

Did you think he was serious, or did you think that he was just trying to get laid?

02:46:26 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 4:

No, well, that he was what?

02:46:28 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 2:

Trying to get laid.

02:46:30 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, he was already getting laid, so that wasn't really bad.

02:46:32 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 2:

No, I know. I understand that. But that night, though, you know what I mean? It was like.

02:46:36 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 4:

I thought he was joking in the moment, but then, like, the next day, I was like, so was that real? And he was like, oh, yeah.

02:46:44 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

02:46:44 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 4:

I was like, okay, well, let's just, like, simmer that down a little bit. Yeah.

02:46:48 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 2:

See, I'm an orgasm I love you guy. I say I love you when I orgasm I know there are some people That are proposal people when they orgasm You know what I mean? Like when you're having sex and you're like I'm going to marry you What a confidence booster

02:47:06 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

02:47:06 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 2:

I love everything at that moment What's going on Sarah?

02:47:12 - 02:47:13 | Speaker 5:

Hi

02:47:13 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey what's going on Sarah? Did you get drunk engaged?

02:47:17 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 5:

So I met my ex-wife While I was drunk And I didn't really, like, remember her too much. We met in Canada at, like, a Windsor trip. And she was from New York. So we just kind of, like, did, like, a long-distance relationship for probably, like, two weeks. And then we met up in Niagara Falls, and we got engaged.

02:47:39 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. And you ended up getting married because you called her your ex-wife. How long were you guys married for?

02:47:45 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 5:

Six years. Oh, wow. All right.

02:47:47 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 2:

and do you look back on it and say that you shouldn't have done it because of the circumstances

02:47:54 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 5:

honestly no because it's kind of like a life experience I just feel like I don't know everything happens for a reason and I met my soon to be husband because of her so we just

02:48:06 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 2:

wait hold on a second so you met your wife while in Canada and then you met your soon to be husband through her so yeah

02:48:16 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 5:

We moved a lot because she was in the military. So the last place that we moved, I ended up meeting him, and it was just like love at first sight. Honestly, I didn't believe in it, but I saw him, and I was like, this just isn't going to work out. And we both agreed, me and her, and we're like, yeah, this isn't, you know, working out.

02:48:33 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 2:

Were you always with women at the time that you met her, or was that just an exploratory thing?

02:48:40 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 5:

No, it's definitely been more men than women. I think like two women before her But mostly men My whole life

02:48:48 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 2:

Try it out Thank you for the call You're welcome Voices guys Good Hello We'll give you the alias Kim I'm here Kim what happened

02:49:06 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 1:

My mom And my Now stepdad were on a vacation and they had gotten pretty inebriated and they were walking back to their condo and my stepdad asked my mom to marry him and so the next day she brought it up and said were you serious when you asked me this and she said what are you talking about she said you asked me to marry you, but I didn't ask you to marry me, I asked you to carry me.

02:49:46 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, oh my god.

02:49:52 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 1:

That's just terrible. He was serious and they ended up getting married, you know. It was a big jokester, but, yeah, my mom said she was a little taken aback when she thought he was serious and asked her to carry him. Oh, that is so good. But you know what, though? That's so sweet. That's sweet that they're together, and that's awesome. What a great story. Thank you for the call, Cam. We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. Yay! This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:50:30 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 2:

So one of the biggest movies this weekend at the box office was the new Mario movie. A lot of people were worried about how Chris Pratt was going to sound in this movie. Turns out the reviews for his choice on the accent were just fine. They were fine. It was the right choice to make. Although the movie itself didn't get the best reviews, it did make about $200 million this weekend at the box office. What I thought was interesting was the number one trending thing from the movie was actually from the end credit scene. Jack Black sang this song. He wrote it himself, and he dropped an entire music video for it today.

02:51:15 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 3:

Every time I eat a peach, I'm going to think of this song.

02:51:18 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 2:

Peaches, peaches, peaches, peaches. It is really catchy. I'm not going to lie. I've been listening to it all morning, but he dropped a fully produced music video for that. And it is absolutely hysterical and true. Jack Black style. Elon Musk is flip flopping on Twitter over whether NPR is state run media. Twitter had applied a tag to the NPR Twitter page, calling it a U.S. state affiliated media. And when an NPR reporter asked him about it, he said, well, where do you guys get your funding? Turns out only 1% of NPR's funding comes from the U.S. government. A majority of their dollars comes from donors. Apparently Elon didn't understand the difference between public media and state-sanctioned media. So once he was provided with the dollars breakdown, apparently he said in an email response, the operating principle at new Twitter is simply fair and equal treatment. So if we label non-U.S. accounts as government, then we should do the same for U.S. But it sounds like that might not be accurate here. Even though he admitted that it probably isn't accurate, Twitter is going to change the state media label to government-funded, which I still don't think is accurate. But NPR has not tweeted and will not use the platform anymore. Oh, boy. Okay, so this weekend, Air did not do well, right? The movie Air with Ben Affleck did not do well in the box office. The first day, it was out. Only $3 million throughout the weekend. Only got about $20 million. When we just talked about Mario, $200 million. Big difference there, right? Well, this weekend, we got a rare paparazzi shot of Ben Affleck and J-Lo as they were going to get lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, which is famous for celebrities calling the paparazzi on themselves when they need to promote something. And surprise, surprise, guess what Ben Affleck was wearing? What? Oh, Nike. It's almost like he was trying to promote his new movie when it was not doing well in the box office. To be fair, he looked really great. And the movie got really great reviews. It's got like a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, but I think he called the paparazzi on himself this weekend, and it is truly making me laugh.

02:53:20 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 3:

I didn't do that bad. I mean, it's tied for fourth. You know what I mean? John Wick did about the same amount, so did Dungeons and Dragons. It's just hard to compare it to Super Mario Brothers.

02:53:30 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, can you compare it when you're talking about movies that have been out for over a month and it was opening weekend?

02:53:36 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 3:

I guess, no. But it's still tied for fourth. That's not bad. It's not great.

02:53:41 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 2:

That's suspicious.

02:53:41 - 02:53:43 | Speaker 3:

That's weird. Yeah.

02:53:44 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 2:

It just seems a little sketchy that we got a... I shouldn't be mean, you guys. I'm trying to be nicer, but a little part of me wanted to be like, he looks very happy and alert and excited to be out with his wife for the first time in a long time, almost like it was planned.

02:54:00 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay, okay.

02:54:02 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

I said what I said.

02:54:02 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 3:

What did I take your word for it?

02:54:03 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 2:

You know, speaking of basketball, we got to talk about the Mavericks because this is actually killing me that this is big sports drama, And nobody seems to be talking about it today. But the Mavericks clearly cheated this past weekend.

02:54:15 - 02:54:32 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, Mike, this is your area because I don't think it's cheating. I think it's well, it's strategy. You know what? You're partially right because I agree it's a little bit cheating. But at the same time, they suck. So that's kind of strategy at this point to get your to get better players for next year.

02:54:32 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

So Mark Cuban and the Mavericks are actually being investigated over this because the Mavericks very clearly threw a game. so that they did not make the playoffs so that they could get better draft picks. The NBA did an investigation into the two to see, you know, what was going on. Right before the game, a bunch of the best Mavs players were out, and I put that in quotation marks due to injuries, including Kyrie Irving. But the majority of the game was played by guys who rarely even hit the court. On top of this, the Mavs blew an 11.

02:55:00 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 3:

point lead in the fourth and then there was a game tying shot the Mavs miss and the camera cut over to Mark Cuban and he's like smiling on camera about it then the coach said that a lot of guys were sat out this game because upper management asked them to build a better roster next season

02:55:14 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 2:

pretty much admitting that they threw the game as a fan I would be mad to go and pay for that game yeah I think they should let people just come to those games for free but as it's like if I was on the team and I was a coach or a strategist I would say that's a great idea I mean every team does it

02:55:30 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it's still cheating. Like cheating is cheating. Yes. Who wants to watch any sports leagues where people are throwing the game to get a better draft pick for next season? It's just annoying. Dwayne Casey, speaking of basketball, is leaving as the head coach of the Pistons as well. I believe he's getting a front office job. So no longer going to be coaching over with the Pistons. So text us whatever your comment is to 95500. But we may call you back if your comment is really, really good. um so shannon this is something that i think that people can relate to things that they still can't do in front of their parents yeah i mean i'm i'm a grown woman and i

02:56:40 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 1:

still feel like i am a goody goody in front of especially my dad my mom my mom's seen like all

02:56:46 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 4:

the bad sides of me i'm a lost cause you try to hide your dad from your father i think that like

02:56:52 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 1:

I just, like my dad has always been so proud of me, you know, and so I still, I'm mom, mom witnessed one or two over the years. Mom's seen it all. So we, we went with my dad. I say we, myself and Lucy and Smith, my kids, we went to the West side of the state and spent some time in Holland and Saugatuck with my dad and my stepmom, Chris, over the weekend. Um, and we were staying at, uh, my girlfriend's cabin. She has a place out there. It was really, really nice. Well, on the corner of the street, of her street and the main road, there's a brand new dispensary that looks like something out of a magazine. It's, like, really cool and really cute looking. Like, it looks like a shop that I would want to go into and buy stuff for my house, okay? It's called New Standard, by the way. If you live on the west side of the state, maybe you know what I'm talking about, okay? So my girlfriend who owns this house we were staying in said she sneaks out all the time to go and get herself some treats. Like some edibles. She's not a smoker. Oh, that's what they do there? But they sell edibles. And so I thought, I mean, I'm not a smoker at all. But like every once in a very great while, I'll split an edible with my girlfriend if we're like out. And you didn't tell us? You know this.

02:58:07 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 4:

No. I keep asking you if you would partake.

02:58:11 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, it is very rare when I do.

02:58:13 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 4:

On the radio, make it seem like you're goody. Maybe you're like that with me, like you are with your dad. No, you've seen all bad sides, too. Maybe you're not goody-goody. Come on.

02:58:19 - 02:58:55 | Speaker 1:

Let's be real. And so I thought, maybe I want like a treat or two to bring home with me. Well, every time we passed it, I was too scared to say in front of my dad and stepmom that I wanted to stop. And I thought to myself, like after we passed it for the fourth or fifth time, I'm 39 years old and I still will not do this in front of my dad. Right. That's exactly it. Mike, I'm sure that they could not give two craps. It was all in my head, but I couldn't do it. like there was still this this 10 year old I get it good girl in front of me and I didn't

02:58:55 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 4:

I didn't want to ask my dad can you stop I get it I I think it's what I I do think by the way it's wild that how much we have just started like opening up the floodgates and now it's like parents and kids are like all you know partaking together and I know it's legal and it's you know everybody uses the analogy it's just like alcohol it's like having a drink in front of your parents But still, it kind of makes you feel a little bit weird. I can see where it makes you feel weird. Is there something that you can't do in front of your parents? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548?

02:59:26 - 02:59:54 | Speaker 1:

Like, even with my dad, drinking was never really a big faux pas because, like, he would give me a Dixie cup of beer when we would watch Cheers, and I was, like, three years old. So that wasn't a big deal to me. But swearing was always a really big deal to him. We weren't even allowed to say fart. And so I can remember the first time I said, you know, damn, or I don't even know what word. Yeah. And my whole body went numb. I expected him to yell at me. And I was probably in college when I first got enough courage to actually swear in front of him.

02:59:54 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

I didn't swear in front of my dad. I really didn't. I never, my dad.

02:59:59 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

That was a huge. Huge no-no.

03:00:00 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 3:

My dad was, you know, my dad was not. He was pretty prim and proper when it came to that thing. The other one, too, is in front of Chelsea's parents. Chelsea and I were, and we got married young, you know. She was 20 and I was 24. And for the longest time, even when we lived in other, you know, in our own home and stuff like that, if we went over to her house, we were very careful of, like, what we were doing with each other. Like if we There was one time Where we actually spent The night at their house Because we were all Going to drink And it was like weird That we spent the night Together You know what I mean And under her parents It's just in your head

03:00:39 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 1:

It's been ingrained In your brain For so long

03:00:41 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 3:

In now the case of Megan Megan does everything In front of her Her mother Right

03:00:46 - 03:00:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah we have no

03:00:48 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 3:

There's no filters Between No filters Between you and Scott Mick What's going on Deja

03:00:54 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 5:

Hey guys How's it going

03:00:56 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 3:

Good What is it that you can't do in front of your parents?

03:01:00 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 5:

I don't show affection to, like, my partner. Me and my fiancé, we've been together for two years. We just got engaged recently. And, like, I don't know what it is. Like, growing up, my dad was always very protective of me. So I don't show affection to my partner like that.

03:01:15 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 3:

And how long have you been with your partner?

03:01:18 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 5:

Two years.

03:01:20 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 3:

And what's the reasoning between this? Did your parents not show affection to each other?

03:01:27 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 5:

No, they did. My dad was always very protective of me when I ever started dating and, you know, the whole, like, holding hands or kissing in front of your parents.

03:01:40 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 3:

How does your partner feel about that?

03:01:43 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 5:

My partner's not too bothered by it. Something in my brain resorts back to just those standards of my dad.

03:01:52 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 3:

Yep. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

03:01:56 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no problem.

03:01:57 - 03:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Take care of yourself. Listening to the Mojo in the Morning Show, there's a text message here. Listening to the Mojo in the Morning Show, I have never sworn in front of my parents. And then another person here that says that they don't drink in front of their parents, so they don't have adult beverages.

03:02:17 - 03:02:23 | Speaker 1:

Watching sex scenes on movies. That's a great one. That still makes me feel so uncomfortable.

Oh, it's the worst, isn't it? When you're on the couch, with somebody that you actually respect, like Chelsea's mom and dad, I could not imagine all of a sudden something like that coming up. Paris, you're how old?

03:02:35 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm 50. I just turned 50 June 1st, Mojo.

03:02:37 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday, man. You know what? 50 is beautiful, right?

03:02:42 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Awesome. Yeah. Even to this day, I cannot swear for my mother, even though I'm a grown man, you know?

03:02:49 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Really? What's the probably dirtiest word that you have said in front of your mother?

03:02:56 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 4:

Damn.

03:02:58 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 3:

Damn. Damn. That's awesome. You know what? It's out of respect.

03:03:03 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 4:

I mean, damn.

03:03:05 - 03:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:03:05 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo, this is Lotus's fiance. You're kidding me. No. What's going on? How are you? Not much. We listen to you guys all the time. When we go back and forth of what your topic is and everything, awesome. I love your show.

03:03:18 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys have like that at night, like where you guys sit there and go, did you hear what they did this morning, or do you do it after the show?

03:03:24 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 4:

Yep, we do that during the afternoon as a conversation.

03:03:27 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 3:

I love it. By the way, we bring couples together. Do we have a date yet?

03:03:33 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 4:

No, not yet. We're still airing on some things.

03:03:36 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. Let us know, okay? I sure will, sir. Take care, buddy. Sarah, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

03:03:42 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, I love that you'll admit to drinking a whole bottle of wine, but you'll only admit to half an edible. Oh, yeah.

03:03:48 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 1:

I can drink two bottles of wine and be good, but if I have more than half an edible, I'm on the floor.

03:03:55 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, I think two edibles is one wine. Wait, what'd you say? Two edibles is one bottle of wine.

03:04:01 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. See, I don't like the feeling of, like, if I just take a little bite of something, I'm good. I never want to take more than that.

03:04:09 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 3:

I want you to know something, Sarah, that she has not had any edibles in front of all of us, and we're very upset.

03:04:15 - 03:04:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, very.

03:04:16 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 3:

Maybe I have

03:04:19 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 1:

And I just didn't tell you Maybe right now

03:04:23 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:
