All right, are you ready?

00:02:31 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 6:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:33 - 00:02:34 | Speaker 8:

You're a doo-doo head.

00:02:38 - 00:02:39 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:02:59 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 8:

Good morning and welcome to The Mojo. in the morning show enough already okay i do not want to even talk about the fact that there were snow flurries this morning what in the world is going on around here guys i thought it's global warming for god's sakes i'll deal with temperatures that are like yeah i don't know 20 degrees, but I don't want to deal with snow, too. Man, oh, man. Did you guys have it by you? I know in the city, by the way, it wasn't as bad as it was out in the suburbs. I didn't see a single flight.

00:04:07 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 4:

Really? Oh, I woke up. I went to let the dogs out because that's the first thing I do. And my grass was completely covered in snow.

00:04:14 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 8:

And it was coming down as I was driving in. But it kind of had the eight-mile cutoff. Like, it won't cross over eight miles. It was like, I'm not going there. It's like some people. That's right.

00:04:25 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

No accumulation, by the way, but we are going to see this mess through the end of our show.

00:04:30 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 8:

We're done. We're done, guys. I can't do this anymore. It is winter. No, it is not. It's winter. Hello. It's winter. It's spring. It's spring. Where's that damn ground hole?

00:04:39 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 4:

Monday, it'll be spring. Monday, it's going to be rainy, but at least it's going to be in the mid to high 60s.

00:04:45 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 8:

But see, the problem, though, is it says it's spring. Actually, I think Saturday is going to be one of the best days that we've had in a while, Which is good because I'm going to Dad's Day. They're saying that temperatures are going to be in the high 50s with sunshine. So that will be nice. Jesus. All right.

00:05:00 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

is coming up this morning on the show why would a sister want to get involved in this a sister thinks that her brother is cheating on his girlfriend why is she getting involved and what do we find out coming up at seven or just thereafter right after the five at 655 stick around for that and your chance to win a brand new car brand new chevy from moran automotive We are giving you a chance to find the fob to win, and it could be any of their cars that are on their lot, so get ready for that. That's happening 630, 730, 830, and 930. All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. I think you can't do this, but maybe I'm wrong. You tell me what your thoughts are on this. I thought that it was one of those things where if you do it, you look a little egotistical. You can't like your own posts. If you post something, and maybe I should ask Bianca, who's our social media expert. She's our executive director of social impact here on the show. How are you doing there, Bianca?

00:06:02 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm great. How are you?

00:06:03 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic. You laughed like, do I have really that title? Yes, you have that title.

00:06:08 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Yellow, let's go.

00:06:09 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 4:

Is it on your business card? Do you have business cards?

00:06:12 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

I need to make business cards. No one uses business cards.

00:06:15 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 4:

You know what I want to get, though, for us? I want to get those digital cards where you, you, they're like the, uh, I saw a buddy of mine had them. They're called ghosts or whatever. You basically hold it and the person does the QR and it logs in. I think that'd be kind of cool. We should get them for everybody on the show.

00:06:31 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

All your social media is on there. That's very cool.

00:06:33 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. So I, um, I have noticed this. I've been looking at a couple of other radio shows and their social media posts, which by the way, Bianca, you've been doing a phenomenal job. Oh, thank you. Yesterday, I couldn't believe it. I was looking at our Facebook Live that we had. Yesterday's Facebook Live after the show had like 70,000 views. 70,000 people were watching it during the show, which is amazing because then you got that along with YouTube and all the iHeartRadio app stuff. It's amazing. So I was looking at another radio show stuff, and I noticed that they had the heart right next to it, you know, on from Instagram, okay? And I'm like, oh, that's interesting. They must have mistakenly had liked their own post. And then I started scrolling through their other posts. And it was like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, all through the thing. And I'm like, what's going on? You can't like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, post all you're doing is trying to raise the number of likes by one what is that one gonna do well there's some people that if they see that they've got uh 99 likes they want that 100 like and you know what if you like it for the 100th like yeah i'm deducting the one maybe in two i'm taking them all back because i just don't want to have people uh you know doing that to

00:08:21 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

themselves i just think it looks a certain way like you're liking your own will it pop up like

00:08:26 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 3:

You know how when you scroll and because we're friends, if I look at a Mojo in the Morning picture that you've liked, it'll say your name under there. Yes. I don't even know that the person did it. Did you like see their name again?

00:08:37 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 2:

See, I'm not talking about the show. Like, I like the show posts. I don't think that counts. But if you like a Kev Noah's post, I see that on your post. And I'm like, why is he liking it? Of course you like it. You posted it.

00:08:51 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But then I liked it again when I actually saw it live.

00:08:54 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 4:

you can't you can't like it because liking your own post kevin would be like kade cunningham refereeing his own game it's not the same he can't referee his own game you gotta have no you

00:09:06 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

can't it's got to be fair so if k likes his own highlights that's wrong if k likes his own

00:09:13 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 4:

highlights and it's not no but no no no if kade likes his own highlights on the piston site it's okay but if on kade's site it's bad he can't do it on kade's site yes like he he's he's got to make sure that it's not on his personal site unless they collaborate with him if they collaborate with them then i can't then i can't give them any kind of grief on that one none of these ones by

00:09:35 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 2:

the way were collaborated with sometimes i do that accidentally when i post something and then collab with mojo in the morning and i'll i'll see it on our page and i like it and then i'm like oh

00:09:45 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 4:

Do you unlike it then? You shouldn't unlike it.

00:09:47 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

I think I do most of the time. No, it's okay. I go back and look now. I think I unlike it. I really do.

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

As long as it's collaborating. Now I'm checking. Like if Cade all of a sudden just starts liking his own post on Cade Cunningham.

00:10:00 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 2:

yeah you can't do that what's his uniform number uh two kade cunningham two i don't know what is what is his instagram you know uh what's up elizabeth hi how are you good how are you i'm doing fantastic i'm a little bit worried that i'm offending a few people that like their own posts

00:10:17 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

you're not one of those are you no so my tiktok and instagram that i'm like trying to gain followers on to be you know a famous tiktoker i do to like gain traction but not like my own personal instagram that i post for like my friends and family okay so but are you liking it as your

00:10:35 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

own personal name like or do you have finstas or you know what is the fake version of a tiktok

00:10:41 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 3:

like my influencer page i do but like for my own personal page i do not it's okay to like it from

00:10:47 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

another page you the same page or this you can't like the same thing that you just posted you know

00:10:54 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 3:

I know, but you have to have more likes for people to see it more often.

00:10:58 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and what is it that you're trying to be TikTok famous for? What are you doing?

00:11:03 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 3:

So my husband and I are gamers, and then I also love to read and color. So we have, like, a gaming slash reading and coloring TikTok page.

00:11:12 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay, interesting. All right, well, that sounds like fun. Well, we'll have to look for you. Shout out your name. This is a way to get yourself some friends.

00:11:22 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 4:

You're about to get 20 likes on Insta.

00:11:26 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 3:

It's called the Silers, S-E-I-L-E-R-S.

00:11:30 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to go check it out. Post a video and then color in a like. And then color in it. And we can merge our worlds together. There you go. Kevin, by the way, you know, does this more than we know. I've done it. Because he just seems very quiet about this right now. I don't think I'm lying at all. Mr. I'm always like, ah. So humble. Yes, I've done it. I think I'll get a fire post, and I'll go out there and I'm like, oh, that was cold. Yeah.

00:11:54 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Quieter today than his ass was yesterday.

00:11:57 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Exactly. Ian, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you, Ian?

00:12:02 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Good. How are you guys?

00:12:04 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 2:

We're doing good. Can you like your own post, Ian?

00:12:08 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 5:

I don't mind when people like their own post. I just find it weird when people tag themselves in their own photo that they upload.

00:12:15 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's an interesting one, too. Yeah. Why are you tagging yourself? you're already posting the thing, right?

00:12:21 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 5:

Exactly, exactly. If you're posting the picture, people know who you are. So why do you have to tag yourself in it?

00:12:27 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's funny. I'll have to check that one out too to see if they're tagging themselves on that too. That is kind of weird. I love it. Ian, what do you got? Do you got just your own personal stuff or do you got some kind of a thing that you're doing out there like that last caller that's trying to become TikTok famous?

00:12:46 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 5:

No, I actually have, I'm starting up, well, I've already started up. I have a donut truck business. Oh. I actually just bought my own donut truck.

00:12:54 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Buddy, I have never seen a donut truck before. Have you ever? Yeah, yeah.

00:12:59 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Not around here.

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:13:01 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Like when we go on vacation, I see them in Colorado and Florida and stuff, and we are always there.

00:13:06 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 5:

Where are you located? I'm in Finley, Ohio.

00:13:10 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, dang it. Come up to Detroit. Come to Eastern Market. It's a perfect place for you.

00:13:15 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 2:

Or a donut truck out in front of our Kiss studios, and we'll have Daniel out there doing a little remote in front of the donut truck.

00:13:22 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 1:

No, come up here, because I want your donuts.

00:13:24 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Or you can do that, too. Whatever you want to do.

00:13:26 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 2:

It's the Drive-By Donuts. Not a bad idea. All right, that's a great idea. That's a cute name. Thanks, Ian. I appreciate you. Drive-By Donuts? Copyright that. I don't know if that's necessarily a good one, especially if a big news story comes out of a donut.

00:13:38 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 1:

No, that's cute. It's a food truck. You think so?

00:13:41 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:13:41 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:13:42 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I'm going to like that right now. I know what's going to have happened today, too. I'm going to have every one of the radio shows that I'm friends with and that I kind of network with, they're all going to go, who was it, who was it, who was it? The group chat on fire. Exactly. So feel free. You guys can comment to me. What's going on, Ken? Hi.

00:14:05 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I believe we should be able to dislike a post on the reason why is political things.

00:14:13 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

I agree. where somebody okay i but but i no but ken can i tell you something i agree you should be able to dislike not just political but anybody that posts anything that looks like they're not actually having fun doing it when i see sometimes people posting stuff and i'm like why'd you post that you look like you're miserable right now i think that you you should be able to just go come on because that's like i think instagram is your happy place just post something happy yes sunrise sunsets and Kev's fart coming out of his ass. Did you hear that yesterday? That made me feel good yesterday. Hold on. This is a great one. This is a typical mom thing. Jill, what does your mom do?

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

She signs her post. She'll wish somebody a happy birthday.

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 2:

And say, love and care. Oh, God love her. God love her.

00:15:05 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 3:

She's a mom. She can get away with it, though. That's okay. How old is mom?

00:15:10 - 00:15:11 | Unknown:

83.

00:15:11 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 3:

83 years old. See that? You're 83 years old. You can do anything you want to do.

00:15:15 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 2:

Like, tag, and subscribe. I can't believe she's actually on Instagram. That's amazing. That's impressive.

00:15:19 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 3:

That is very impressive.

00:15:20 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's Facebook.

00:15:21 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 2:

We won't go so far as Instagram. Oh, okay. Still.

00:15:24 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you want to get some followers? Have an 83-year-old do a Facebook Live every single morning. just kind of like over her morning, what she's doing. That would be huge. Aunt Karen.

00:15:33 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 6:

All right. How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:41 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:17:48 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

00:17:48 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 4:

It was 2006.

00:17:49 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 3:

It was. Yes. Good morning, good morning. It's a great morning for you, Dawn. You got tickets. Congratulations to you.

00:17:55 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

00:17:57 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 3:

Be careful. You got any snow coming down still, or is it done already?

00:18:01 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 1:

It's still coming down. I'm heading to work in Oak Park, and it's snowing.

00:18:05 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 3:

Got a little bit of snow. Not sticking, thank God, for that. So you should be good. Kesha is going to be here when there's no snow, although it's Michigan, and I don't know. Sometimes we get it. July 19th, hopefully, there won't be any snow. Congrats to you, okay?

00:18:19 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 2:

Fingers crossed.

00:18:20 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Dawn.

00:18:20 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:18:21 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever seen that movie ATO with TR?

00:18:24 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 2:

I have not.

00:18:26 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. Okay. Get it. Yeah. You should. Yeah. You should. All right, Dawn, hold on one second. We're giving away tickets or giving away a car bigger than tickets. I'll take that. How about this? A chance for you to win a brand-new Chevy from Moran Automotive. Find the fob. I want you to call 844-MOJO-LIVE to try to win. 844-665-6548. Find the fob. Whoever finds the key fob that's left in one of the cars on their lot is going to drive off the lot with that car, or you're going to leave with $25,000.

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:11 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 3:

Shannon with What's Trending This Morning in the Dirty on the 30.

00:19:14 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 2:

Michelle Obama has broken her silence on the ongoing rumors about her marriage, Rumors that the Obamas were headed for a divorce started back in December. And then Michelle skipped Jimmy Carter's funeral and announced she wasn't going to be attending President Trump's inauguration. And people are all up in arms about that and wondering what the heck was going on. It was also recently reported that Obama's largest, the Obama's largest donors have dropped them. During an appearance on Sophia Bush's Work in Progress podcast, the former first lady blamed society for its unfair standards on women.

00:19:49 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 1:

As women, I think we struggle with like disappointing people.

00:19:53 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:19:53 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

You know, I mean, so much so that this year people were, they couldn't even fathom that I was making a choice for myself.

00:20:00 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 6:

that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing. This couldn't be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself, right? That's what society does to us. We start actually finally like going, what am I, what am I doing? You know, who am I doing this for? And if it doesn't fit into the sort of stereotype of what people think we should do, then it gets labeled as something negative and horrible.

00:20:28 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 5:

So to recap, they are not headed for divorce in any sort of way.

00:20:33 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 2:

I've just seen the clips of the podcast that she does with her brother. And a lot of the clips that have been posted in CNN has been posting them. So it's not like they've been posted by like Fox News or anything. Are her saying a lot of negatives are about the president. And it's interesting because I think she and he have that kind of a relationship where he becomes the butt of her jokes a lot.

00:20:56 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 5:

Like she, she jokes about how he's always late for everything. I mean, stuff like that.

00:21:00 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, and also, also she had to give, she basically says I gave up my life for him and all this stuff. And I think that those come across like she's, you know, not happy in her relationship. And I think the problem is we look at life within these clips. And I think that if you go back and you listen to the entire podcast, you're going to only hear that for moments. Cause sometimes people will hear some things that like my wife will say about me on the radio, like joking around or things.

00:21:26 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 5:

And it's very much taken out of context, too.

00:21:28 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and I will say this to you. I think their relationship is a very interesting relationship because she has been with him through the Barack Obama that literally was nothing and had nothing to the man that was the most powerful man in the world. And I think that when you are together for that long of a period of time, you see their smelly side and you see their not-so-smelly side, right?

00:21:51 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So allegedly Kylie Jenner wants Timothy Chalamet to stop filming sex scenes altogether after his co-star Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about their onscreen chemistry during the filming of Marty Supreme, which is a new sports drama where Tim plays a ping pong prodigy who has an affair with his rival's wife. And that is Gwyneth Paltrow. There are a lot of sex scenes in this thing. And so Gwyneth sat down and did this interview with Vanity Fair about filming those scenes. And she went into great detail. That did not sit well with Kylie. He has no problem with it. Like, this is his world. He's an actor. Kylie does not like it. She does not appreciate all the details. And apparently said, no more sex scenes for you moving forward. And lastly, Ed Sheeran on the Call Her Daddy podcast talking about how, this is his new song, As He's On, by the way, which I really like. But talking about how he does not think he has what it takes, and I agree with him, to pull off a performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

00:22:51 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 3:

I mean, there are some that have the pizzazz of Super Bowl, fireworks, dances, blah, blah, blah. But me going up there and being like, here's the A team and here's purpose. I just like no one wants to see that.

00:23:04 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 5:

I love Ed Sheeran, but I agree. He is not Super Bowl halftime show material by any means. He also said one day he can see himself transitioning to country music.

00:23:12 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 7:

Are you living in Nashville at that time or any time have you ever considered doing a country album?

00:23:18 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 3:

I think there's, yeah, I guess so. But from living in Nashville, you can't just, like, dip your toe in. If I'm going to do it, I have to do it, and then that's it.

00:23:28 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 7:

Wait, do you have, like, a good twang? Like, could you pull it off?

00:23:31 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 3:

I feel, because my heritage is sort of Anglo-Irish, and I grew up with trad music in my household, i think it would have to be a little twinge of that i think i'd have to bring irish trad music into country because it's all kind it's the same instruments anyway but um yeah so i wouldn't have a twang um but i've made i've made country songs in the past they've just never come out i feel like i have to i have to do it probably properly and i think when you transition to country you can't transition back once you're there you're there so maybe you'll do it like your later nashville's like my favorite city in in the states and not everybody needs to do country I think my end goal would be, like, I'm going to move to Nashville and transition to country. But, yeah, I think you just have to do it properly. It's a genre you have to really respect, and it's not just dip in and out.

00:24:22 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 2:

You hear that, Beyonce? What's going on?

00:24:26 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 5:

00:26:17 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 3:

It's the Cinderella story that breaks up the tournament.

00:26:20 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:26:21 - 00:26:25 | Speaker 3:

So don't be the Cinderella story. Let's see if you're a top seed here, okay?

00:26:45 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 5:

00:27:22 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 3:

What's your restoration company called?

00:27:24 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 5:

Response, Flood, and Fire.

00:27:33 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 3:

All right, Haley, I'm locking you up in a soundproof area. We're going to begin. You're going to hear nothing for a second, and then you're going to hear Lydia. And then, Ryan, you're going to hear me. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Shout out your kids, by the way. You're taking them to school right now. What are their names?

00:27:49 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I got Jackson and Caleb, and they're here with me right now. Where do they go to school? Unlike Kevin. I go to West Middle School.

00:27:58 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 3:

West Middle School. Kevin, he says you're not rooting them out because you don't want a one and done.

00:28:02 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, sorry, bro.

00:28:02 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 3:

The Pistons take on the New York Knicks tonight at Little Caesars Arena. How many players from each NBA team can be on the court during the game?

00:29:23 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 5:

00:29:26 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 3:

Question number five. Michelle Obama is speaking out about rumors of her and the former president getting divorced. First, what number president was Barack Obama? Three seconds.

00:29:39 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 5:

I'll give you a multiple choice. I'll do a multiple choice. A, 42, B, 43, or C, 44?

00:29:49 - 00:29:53 | Speaker 5:

You said 42, 43, or 44. Those are the options. Yeah, hurry up.

00:29:53 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 2:

Pick one.

00:29:54 - 00:29:55 | Speaker 5:

42.

00:29:56 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 2:

Obama!

00:29:57 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's bring the champ back from a soundproof air.

00:30:00 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 2:

Ryan, you did pretty well. You got four out of five. Nice.

00:30:03 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 1:

You got to beat four out of five, Haley. You got to be near perfect.

00:30:07 - 00:30:07 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:30:08 - 00:30:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go. Question number one. Justin Bieber went on a tirade against the paparazzi yesterday, calling them money hungry, among other things. True or false, Justin was born in Los Angeles, California. Three seconds.

00:30:23 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 2:

Three. False.

00:30:26 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 1:

That is correct. Yes, he was born in Canada. Yeah, he's a Canadian like Shannon's husband, Wes. One to one. Question number two. Players of this video game are causing chaos for refusing to shoot opponents in Sabrina Carpenter's skins. Which is the total opposite of the goal of the game? Which game is it?

00:30:50 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Three. I just read this. Minecraft?

00:30:55 - 00:30:58 | Speaker 1:

Chicken jockey. One to two. One to two.

00:31:01 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, you cannot miss any more of these questions. Question number three. Real Housewives star Teddy Mellencamp's dad is already planning her funeral amid her cancer battle. Who is her famous musician father?

00:31:17 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 3:

John Mellencamp.

00:31:18 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 1:

John Mellencamp, yes. Two to three. A little ditty about Jack and Diane. Question number four. Again, you cannot miss these next two questions. Question four. The Pistons take on the New York Knicks tonight at Little Caesars Arena. How many players from each team can be on the court during the game?

00:31:38 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 2:

00:31:43 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, my God.

00:31:47 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 2:

New champion.

00:31:48 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 1:

No, it's five from each team. We got a new champion in the five of 655. I'm sorry, Catherine. One. And done. Yeah. Sir Swirly returns. Congratulations to you, Ryan. Ryan, nice job, buddy. That was awesome. Awesome. Thank you, guys. Incredible, incredible, incredible. Haley, you did one and done. You know what? You did it well. I did. Sorry. That's okay. Don't worry about it. We're going to set you up with a $50 cash card to go to Checkers. Get yourself some checkers in your life. Ryan, we will see you tomorrow, okay?

00:32:33 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Awesome. Thanks, you guys.

00:32:34 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Don't go anywhere.

00:32:35 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

00:32:52 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 1:

It is time to bust a cheater and an interesting one today because you never know who's going to text you when you say, hey, if you think that you know of somebody cheating, text cheater to 95500.

00:33:06 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:12 - 00:33:15 | Speaker 1:

Miranda, will you tell everybody who you think is cheating?

00:33:16 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 3:

My brother.

00:33:18 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 1:

Your brother you think is cheating on his wife?

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 3:

On his girlfriend.

00:33:24 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 1:

On his girlfriend. And are you, like, really close to his girlfriend that you're willing to call out your brother like this?

00:33:32 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 3:

Yes, she's one of my closest friends, and she's kind of become a family member to us.

00:33:37 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 1:

So why are we not having her on here to make this phone call? Why is it that you're the one doing this?

00:33:44 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 3:

I just kind of want to figure out first if it's actually happening before I cause any sort of chaos.

00:33:50 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 2:

Do you and your brother not have, like, a close relationship where you feel like you can just talk to him?

00:33:56 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know if he's going to lie or not. If he's lying to her.

00:34:01 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 1:

So you think that he potentially is cheating, and your goal is if he's not, then you'll never bring it up to her and never talk about it. And if he is?

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:34:13 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 1:

Will you tell her?

00:34:16 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 3:

That's unfortunately the plan.

00:34:19 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So this is pretty wild because I feel like brothers and sisters will have their siblings back no matter what. And I feel like you're not having his back by doing this.

00:34:32 - 00:34:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, at this point, they've been together so long. She's family to me, too.

00:34:38 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 1:

Wow. So you're choosing her if that's the case. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. This could be something that divides a family.

00:34:49 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

I feel like even you just doing this is going to cause some drama. Well, not as much drama as he'd cause if he was cheating.

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. So you're okay with doing this still. I just want to give you an out.

00:35:04 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm okay with doing this.

00:35:05 - 00:35:12 | Speaker 1:

All right. War of the Roses. Who are we hoping that the flowers go to? What's your brother's girlfriend's name?

00:35:14 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Cassie.

00:35:15 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 1:

We're hoping that the roses go to Cassie. Mute your phone.

00:35:30 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 4:

00:36:12 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Michael, have you purchased flowers in the last six months?

00:36:18 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 3:

00:36:19 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:36:23 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 3:

00:36:49 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 3:

00:36:52 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And a telephone number? well hold on hey okay and what is Lisa's relationship to you oh uh it's a good friend okay and red rose is okay yeah okay uh Michael we do something unique at rosesbloom.com instead of sending a paper card along with the flowers in this case Lisa will get a text message that sent to her when the flowers get delivered so she knows she has a delivery to go grab and it's also going to include a voice memo that i'm going to record here with you and i'm going to count you down you can make it as long or as short as you want but just kind of something similar to what you would write on a card all right okay okay here we go three two one lisa i can't wait to see you this weekend. Love Michael. Okay. And Michael, this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah, I'm okay with that. Okay. Michael, I'm going to

00:38:05 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 1:

jump on real quick and then we'll send those flowers off. We'll send the message off to your friend, Lisa. Before I do, I have somebody that would like to say hello to you if you're okay with that? Sure.

00:38:18 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 3:

Who's that?

00:38:20 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 1:

Michael, your sister Miranda is on the phone. Miranda? Are you kidding?

00:38:25 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 2:

Michael, you lying piece of s**t.

00:38:29 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing?

00:38:36 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 1:

Michael, your sister Miranda is on the phone and was hoping that you were going to send the flowers to your girlfriend, Cassie. He hung up the phone. Do you know who this girl is?

00:38:53 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea who Lisa is, but I did see her picking him up last night.

00:38:59 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 1:

So wait a second. So you didn't tell us that. You saw a girl other than his girlfriend picking him up last night?

00:39:07 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Late, too.

00:39:10 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 1:

How do you think this is going to go over with your family that you just did this?

00:39:16 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea.

00:39:20 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 1:

You think your parents are the type of people that, you know, other family members are the type of people that will stick up for him? Or will they call him out for what he did?

00:39:30 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm pretty sure everyone in our family will call him out.

00:39:35 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 1:

Is there a way we can try to talk to Cassie, though? I worry about her hearing this now. Why don't we see what we can do, Lydia, with that? Hang on one second, Miranda. Busted again.

00:39:55 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 3:

It's your home for War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning. When we come back here next, that War of the Roses happened some time ago. This is the first time that you've ever gotten a chance to hear it. When we come back here in moments, many, many months after that phone call was made, what's the relationship between Miranda and her brother Michael? And now what's the family thinking about what Miranda did? We have Miranda on to explain And more of the War of the Roses Coming up in moments Has anybody ever done this Would you do this to your brother or your sister This is the home of The War of the Roses Mojo in the morning

00:40:48 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the morning all right mojo in the morning war of the roses so war of the roses just to be full disclosure we have to get permission for play to be able to put stuff on the radio so the war of the roses although some might have thought that it's live it's not we have to tape them and we have to get permission and it's a just a big craziness well this one is one of those ones where you require to be able to give a little bit of a background on what's going on including the fact that here's a situation where you got a family getting involved in a relationship in a cheating situation so it's not the actual person that wants to do it it's the sister that thinks that her brother's cheating on his girlfriend and then she finds out that this is the case because she's noticing him with another girl and she's showing her loyalty now to this girlfriend more so than over her brother.

00:41:51 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 1:

She's become her best friend, really.

00:41:53 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 3:

And we want to kind of get an update on what this has done to their family, to Miranda's family and her relationship with her brother. But also, I want to talk about this hypothetically with all of us, including you, the listeners. Would you ever do something like this? like if you found out that your sister brother whoever was cheating would you tell the other person or would you keep it to yourself and keep it quiet who's your loyalty to or is there ever loyalty in this case i've often wondered this you know i mean especially with this miranda one like you know that there are some people that confide in their brother or sister you know and they'll say hey we're struggling I'm not happy I'm going out blah blah blah you know whole deal um and it's funny because I love my in-laws you know I love my sister-in-laws I love my brother-in-law I be honest with you think that I would always side with my family I think blood is definitely thicker than uh than water in this case I do but there's also a varying degree of

00:43:04 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 1:

like everybody has a different relationship with their siblings and um I feel and I I can see where like my best girlfriends are my best girlfriends and I've told my girlfriend stuff that I haven't told my own family members so I can see where Miranda is really you know upset that this is like this is somebody that she has grown very very close to and maybe she isn't as close to her brother you know as some brothers and sister are so i just i very much feel like it depends on your the relationship that you have with that particular sibling uh kevin you right away just

00:43:47 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 3:

said you know if your sister was cheating on her man you would keep that between the two of you

00:43:55 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's nothing more important than the code. And as a family member, there's a code that's established. You don't go against the grain. It was us before it was y'all.

00:44:04 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 1:

What if Melinda was dating, like, your best buddy in the whole world? And I know JG is in a relationship, but isn't he? Mm-hmm. Even then.

00:44:12 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, I mean, it'll never, it'll never. I mean, none of my best friends would ever date my sister. That's code number one. No, I know.

00:44:19 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 1:

I know. I'm just hypothetically.

00:44:21 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 2:

And then I'd be damned if they would disrespect her in that way.

00:44:24 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 3:

wow that's an interesting one

00:44:26 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 1:

what if she was cheating on that person is what the situation is

00:44:31 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 2:

but to your point it's all situational based on how you are with that individual and I have the relationship with my sister where I would go talk to her sit her down and say you need to stop

00:44:41 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 3:

and yeah I'll tell you this

00:44:46 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 1:

which it sounds like she did by the way

00:44:50 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 3:

I don't think Miranda did that

00:44:52 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 1:

No, but I'm saying she did confront him.

00:44:57 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but I don't think she did enough.

00:44:59 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 1:

So she went to him. first before she came to us before going to us um let me ask Miranda uh just want to see how Cassie is doing how uh Michael's uh girlfriend is doing how's everything going here with uh with what happened or uh oh she's on this one she's struggling are they still together no definitely

00:45:26 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 3:

not. How about

00:45:28 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 1:

your brother? Is your brother talking to you?

00:45:32 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 3:

He hasn't spoken to me since. Wow. What about your mom and dad? My parents are on my side with this one.

00:45:42 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 1:

So they're still, they're upset with him. They haven't sided with their boy.

00:45:48 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 2:

He messed up. Do you regret doing it at all?

00:45:54 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 1:

No. You don't regret at all not having a relationship with your brother?

00:46:00 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 3:

Not after what he did.

00:46:02 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Let me take some of these calls. Fred, your thoughts on what Miranda did?

00:46:10 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 4:

So, she's wrong for that. Honestly, I went through that. And the thing was, I wasn't even cheating. But my brother and my sister were basically trying to tell my kid's mother to break up with. Instead of coming to me, talking to me about the situation, they just automatically told her to break up with me, and I ain't like that.

00:46:34 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 1:

Why did they think that you were cheating?

00:46:37 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 4:

No, they basically, she, my kid's mom was kind of feeling unhappy at the moment.

00:46:42 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so it was not about cheating, it was just she was unhappy and she confided in them. Okay. So, that's weird that your wife was going to them and they were counseling her through this whole thing and they were siding with her on this. Why were you so bad that she wanted out of this relationship?

00:47:01 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 4:

You know, every relationship has a little hiccup. So instead of don't want to come to me like, hey, bro, you know, they just like, hey, just break up with her. And to this day, they still side with her.

00:47:14 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. How's your relationship with them? Did it change during this point?

00:47:19 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 4:

Kev, you already know how it went. Me and them do not talk. Me and my kid's mom is no longer together. Like I said, they still is in hoops with her.

00:47:30 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

Did they say they're doing it for the good of their niece and nephew or whatever your kids are?

00:47:36 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 4:

That's what they claim, but at the same time, you don't have to talk to their mom every day.

00:47:40 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 1:

But do you think they truly did care about your children?

00:47:46 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:47:49 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 1:

Is that us coming back at us? or are you listening to the TV loud or something? What is that?

00:47:54 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that must be the TV.

00:47:56 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, what do you got on the TV? Because I'm thinking to myself, that doesn't sound like us. What do you got, Law & Order on or something? What do you got? Yeah. Do you really? Oh, the history channel. Oh, the history channel.

00:48:08 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right. It was respectful.

00:48:14 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank you, Fred. I appreciate you calling, man. I appreciate you. Stephanie, what do you think of what Miranda did?

00:48:21 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 3:

um i support her um what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong and so um i feel i've been on the end of both where miranda is with my own brother and myself so i would 100 call my brother out and if we didn't talk we didn't talk but

00:48:47 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 1:

So you've done this before? You've sided against your brother?

00:48:53 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. My brother at one time was married to my best friend, and I have not necessarily spoken to him in six years.

00:49:01 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Interesting.

00:49:04 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 3:

And, I mean, it comes down to respect for other people and yourself. And even if when trying to talk to people in regards to cheating, they're lying to their significant other, whether it's a wife, a girlfriend, whatever. Why would they not lie to the person that's trying to convince them to do what's right?

00:49:29 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 2:

So your brother was cheating on your best friend. And I want to know, how did you know? And then did you talk to him first or did you go to her?

00:49:36 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 3:

um i didn't necessarily talk to him and it was all just like speculation there's just a lot of sticky things going around and then um eventually it did come out but it was after they were divorced and everything um but at the end of the day i would have taken her side All right.

00:50:00 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 2:

day long because it is wrong and I know my parents did not raise us to be that way and it's just a constant life I didn't do it I didn't do it even with proof here's the proof we have it I didn't do it I didn't do it and it's like I don't have time for your bullcrap like you go live your life and I'm gonna go live mine and nobody wants that you know I have young kids and I don't want that as an example for my kids or any of my family so you go move along that's kind of how it ended up

00:50:33 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 4:

well it almost has to be and i'm okay with it it almost has to be like to a point where it sounds like it was such a toxic situation and you know if the guy's talking to another girl whatever i think you pull your your brother aside and say hey cut the crap we know what's going on yeah but if it's so toxic like in this case where the guy's literally planning on spending time with her on the weekend um andy your uh brother was cheating on your sister-in-law and what happened well you

00:51:05 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 3:

know i i we went out for vacation and you know he was kind of in the service and uh he married her from another country well anyway we get out there and we're talking and stuff and he went to the door or something, and she explained to us that he had been cheating, and he ended up going to her country and monkeying around with a lady of the night, and the dumbass had her brother take him to the club.

00:51:39 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez. So wait.

00:51:41 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 3:

This guy's real stupid.

00:51:42 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 4:

So her brothers took him to go cheat on their sister.

00:51:46 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but they got even with him. So anyway, he, you know, so she's telling us this stuff and I'm thinking, you know, our parents have been married for over 50 years and I know they didn't, he didn't learn that crap from them. Yeah. But, but he just, you know, I, I couldn't, I couldn't talk to the kid after that, you know, I mean.

00:52:08 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're upset.

00:52:09 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 3:

And it kind of mellowed out and then when we got into this politics stuff, I don't talk to him anymore.

00:52:13 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, the interesting thing is when you have kids involved too, it makes things even worse. so I'm assuming they had children together?

00:52:20 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, she had an adopted daughter.

00:52:23 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:52:23 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he adopted her daughter. Yeah.

00:52:26 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 4:

It's one of those, well, that's pretty interesting that the brothers took him to go see a hooker, basically. Her brothers, so you're the brother that's upset with your own brother, but her brothers are out there taking him to go see a hooker. That's a weird one. Initial A, what's up? Where are the roses? Hi.

00:52:45 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:52:46 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 4:

Your voice disguised.

00:52:49 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 1:

Definitely, because I'm currently going through this exact same thing.

00:52:54 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 4:

By the way, are you a frequent caller of the show?

00:52:58 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to say.

00:52:59 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 4:

Because you have a distinctive voice that cannot be disguised. What's your situation?

00:53:05 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 1:

Don't say that, because then it's going to make me not want to tell the story.

00:53:09 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 4:

What's your situation? What's going on?

00:53:10 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 1:

um so i just found out that my brother is cheating on my sister-in-law um so it's the same situation but i haven't told anyone are you going to so listening to this makes me kind of conflicted they just had a baby i'm really really close to her they've been together since high school um i knew her in high school um but i'm really close

00:53:41 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 4:

to my brother as well what do you think kevin does she have to follow the code that you were talking about well how do you know for a fact and how did you find out so i do know for a fact we

00:53:52 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 1:

kind of me and my mom were really close to my brother me my mom and my brother just asked um So we contemplated thinking it because of little things he would say when he was drunk and hanging out with us. And then two weekends ago, we went out, and we went to a party, and a girl met him up there. My sister-in-law wasn't with us, of course.

00:54:15 - 00:54:16 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:54:16 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 1:

So he kind of kept trying to, like, move to the back and, you know, move away from us, of course. But I was being nosy, and I seen them hugged up and kissed in the back of the party. Right in front of you.

00:54:27 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 4:

What do you think she should do? I think she should talk. Did you already say you talked to him?

00:54:34 - 00:55:07 | Speaker 1:

So, at the end of the party, of course, we're all drunk and everything, but I didn't think that was a good time. But I did mention to him, like, what's going on? I see you in the back, and he's like, sis, don't worry about it. But, see, the issue is my mom saw it as well. And my mom, she's cool, but she wants to tell my sister-in-law. And it's such a different situation when it's a baby involved. because she feels like she controls my sister in a lot of control if we see the baby or not.

00:55:07 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 5:

I agree. And by the way, let your mom be the one to tell. I was about to say, yeah.

00:55:11 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 4:

I would take my brother out, sit him down, put it to him real. Like, we all know what's going on. Eventually, it's going to come out. Either you get in front of it or you'll be behind the eight ball and then it's all going to fall down because mama's going to. That's a really great way of saying it, Kev.

00:55:26 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 5:

When you say get in front of it.

00:55:27 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 4:

Like be a man, either end it or tell your girl what's going on.

00:55:31 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 5:

Do you think if he ends it and doesn't go to see these girls anymore, will you keep that secret to your grave?

00:55:42 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 1:

Initially, I agree with Kevin. I feel like I have to choose my brother. I love my brother, but it's so hard. I love my sister-in-law, and I don't want her to take my niece away. If something happens and she finds out I knew.

00:55:57 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 5:

And you're right, by the way. She does control the children. You have a lot of thinking to do, and I think this is one of those ones where you call for a family meeting. I think it's time. If you want, we can be part of it. We can do it at 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock. When can we schedule the family meeting? Would that not be amazing, radio? What do you think? But you have to unvice these guys yourself.

00:56:26 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 1:

As long as I can be some voices, guys.

00:56:29 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 5:

All right, let's get you caught up on what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, what you got in this hour's dirty?

00:57:35 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 3:

I think he snapped and finally had enough. And I understand this when celebrities get to the point of seeing the paparazzi when they're just trying to get a coffee, for God's sake, as was the case for Justin Bieber yesterday. He's in Palm Springs right now ahead of Coachella. went to go get coffee, saw the paparazzi, immediately covered his face when he noticed they were recording him, and then finally just went up to them and said, money, money, money. You're all about the money. And that's it.

00:58:03 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 2:

Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money. Money, get out of here. Money. All you want is money. Go, get out of here. All you guys want is money. Money, money, money, money, money.

00:58:16 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 3:

I love Justin Bieber, by the way. lydia i know you do too what was he what was he wearing what was he wearing what is it he's really like five sizes too big very long yeah culottes i wouldn't even call them shorts yeah and he's like bright green shoes i don't know what he was wearing but you do feel bad i mean there comes a point when it's like yes i understand these are celebrities but it's got to get old that there's always a camera in your face or a phone in your face that's the life man it's

00:58:48 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 5:

It's such a tough one for these guys.

00:58:50 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if I'm a millionaire. You'd be okay with that?

00:58:56 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 3:

You always say this, but I mean, this is years and years and years and years and years. If that's my problem, I think that I can deal with that.

00:59:05 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 5:

But you never have a private moment. What about when you're with your kids? I hate when they do that with the kids.

00:59:12 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 4:

I agree with that.

00:59:12 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't think the paparazzi cares about the families and stuff like that. I don't care.

00:59:17 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 3:

There are some sites, like the Daily Mail, that even if they get a photo, they blur out the kids' faces, but you're still in the kids' face taking a photo, so, you know, I don't know. Do you still follow Kanye on X?

00:59:30 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 4:

I might. I was, man, he was going crazy last night. Oh, my God.

00:59:33 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

I can't even, okay, so I can't even read some of these tweets. Someone was funny, though. So, okay, okay, you can read some of them. I'm mad I haven't effed Taylor Swift yet. Oh, I ain't seen that one. Show you an example of racism. Justin Bieber and Harry Styles. Blank, blank, blank, blank, blank. Taylor Swift from both sides and didn't call me. Everything in this tweet is 1000% true.

01:00:00 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 1:

But do Beyonce ever let Jay get, I can't say that word. I told Ray J we need to hit Kim. I can't. Oh, no. He said that. I can't. Superstar part two. Like, what?

01:00:14 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 2:

When he does this thing, there's nobody in another room that can go and take his phone away. Come on, bro. I mean, this is one where I'm calling on Elon to censor the man. It's time for you to just take it away from him.

01:00:26 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 3:

Man, he said something. I don't want to misquote him. He said something like, a lot of these girls just a nose job away from getting a rich man.

01:00:33 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:00:34 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yeah, like he was going off last night. You said that's bad?

01:00:37 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you don't say that.

01:00:39 - 01:00:40 | Unknown:

All right.

01:00:40 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 2:

All right. If that was, by the way, if that was, you know, some artist that you don't like saying that. I wouldn't care.

01:00:48 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 3:

We wouldn't even be talking about it.

01:00:49 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, you would say that's horrible. We wouldn't even be talking about it. Why do you stick up for this poor guy? I love his music. He needs mental help, man. That's what that guy needs. He needs a psychiatrist and probably needs, honestly, to go get locked away somewhere for a little bit just to kind of get some help.

01:01:06 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 1:

Teddy Mellencamp said her dad, Don Mellencamp, is already planning for her burial in their family mausoleum in Indiana as she battles stage four cancer. You know her from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She said her dad has called her multiple times to have that very morbid discussion on Tuesday's episode of her Two Teas in a Pod podcast. that you can hear on the iHeartRadio app, by the way. Teddy said she agrees with him. It needs to happen. She, the family, they need to have a plan here, unfortunately. And if you haven't been following along on her cancer journey, thought they got all of the tumors in her brain. They just found a handful more. She at least was joking about the situation. She said the quote, hot girls never die. Better be engraved on her tombstone. Wow.

01:01:56 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

So sad to see that. Cancer sucks.

01:01:59 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 1:

Another day, another business filing for bankruptcy. This time around, Weight Watchers.

01:02:05 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Florine Marks.

01:02:08 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Weight Watchers is preparing to file in the coming months as part of a plan to hand control of the business to its creditors. And it's Ozempeh.

01:02:15 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

They got to do the shots, right?

01:02:17 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 1:

Ozempeh, Wegovi. They offer a quicker fix to get skinny, and Weight Watchers just can't complete.

01:02:22 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

Weight Watchers was a good, I've done every diet. You want to know about a diet?

01:02:26 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 1:

Weight Watchers is very successful for a lot of people.

01:02:30 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 2:

I learned a lot about, you know, eating and what time to eat, what not to eat, you know, how to count your calories.

01:02:36 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 1:

How to eat the things that you like without going overboard.

01:02:38 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 2:

But it's way easier to stick in a shot inside of me. I'm telling you, you know what the best way to lose weight is? Duct tape over your mouth. If you've never tried that diet before, it's phenomenal.

01:02:48 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, shout out to Beyonce, the CEO of Ulta Beauty. Keisha Steelman has confirmed that Beyonce's hair care line is sacred. we talked about this earlier in the week, sold in a day double what Ulta's projections were for a week of sales.

01:03:04 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wowie.

01:03:05 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that incredible?

01:03:06 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 3:

She needs that money. Say something.

01:03:09 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

Double in a day what the projections were for a week. She's the goat. She's the goat of everything. The only problem is that when they find out that she and Jay were hanging out with Diddy, they'll figure it out.

01:03:22 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 3:

They scream out your failures and whisper your accomplishments.

01:03:25 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up by listening to the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:03:59 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys.

01:04:01 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing there, Erica?

01:04:03 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 3:

I am great. Oh, my God. Thank you so much.

01:04:06 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 2:

Erica says here you're driving a 2012 Camry, and you need a car. You need something new.

01:04:12 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yes, definitely.

01:04:14 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, Find the Fob is going to get you that. On May the 2nd, we will be at Moran Chevrolet over on Gratiot Road, where we'll do the grand finale, giving away, find the fob. You've got to find it. If you find it, you've got that luck, you can win that thing.

01:04:32 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. Oh, my God, guys. Thank you so much. This is so exciting.

01:04:36 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome. Congratulations to you. I want you to hang on the phone for a second, and we'll gather some information from you, okay?

01:04:41 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay, thanks.

01:04:43 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'm excited for you. Hold on one second. What do we got here? I stayed up late last night. I ended up watching, I watched the Luka Doncic returning to Dallas game last night on ESPN. And.

01:05:00 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 3:

And which, by the way, it was so kind of cool to see what Dallas did for him, but also how he reacted to it. He was very emotional. You know, he got you didn't realize that this guy who, you know, came here as just a kid to the States. Dallas was his town, you know, that kind of grew in him and they helped him grow up a little bit. And they they put all that stuff up there. His idol was up in the stands, Dirk Nowitzki. And it was cool. It was really cool to see that. Scored 45 points or something like that. Something like that. Yeah, it was pretty amazing. Went off. Yeah. But then I just stayed up too late. I got to get to bed early because I'm kind of tired today. You seem tired today, too. Are you a little tired today, Cav? Yeah. Seems tired. What did you do last night? You didn't have a game or anything, did you?

01:05:50 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 4:

Nah. Tonight? But I watched that game. Yeah, we got a game tonight. I watched that game, and then I watched the game after that. It was a good game between Denver and the Sacramento Kings.

01:05:58 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 3:

What time do you go to bed? Because you send your topics in at like 1 in the morning or something like that.

01:06:05 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes, yeah. I mean, I'll go to bed. It's interesting. I was talking to somebody on FaceTime last night, and it was around 12, 30-ish. And it was like, that's typically the time I go to bed, between like midnight and 1. Holy cow. So do you sleep during the day? Do you take a nap? I'll take a nap. Yeah, yesterday I took a nap between, I had a great nap yesterday. It was like a four-hour nap.

01:06:23 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 3:

That's the problem. Okay. That's crazy. Once you do a four-hour nap during the day, you can't fall asleep at night, and then it screws you up. And then all you're doing is sleep in little increments.

01:06:33 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm not going to force myself to stay up if my body realizes it needs rest.

01:06:37 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 1:

Before kids, I used to sleep like that. I would sleep in halves, I called it. I would stay up late, and I would get like four hours of sleep, and then I would do the show, and then I would go home and sleep for like four more hours.

01:06:48 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 3:

But then it ruins your day. They say it screws up your metabolism, too. that you never get the full, your deep sleep and REM sleep because you're only doing four hours here, four hours there. Like, you need eight hours consistent sleep.

01:07:01 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 1:

I never get that.

01:07:02 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Maybe on the, I mean, on the weekends, maybe I do. I just don't see myself going to bed at 9 o'clock.

01:07:07 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 3:

Because there's too much going on? Or do you feel like you're, you feel like a loser doing that?

01:07:11 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Probably all the above. 9 o'clock, like, what am I doing, bro?

01:07:14 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm going to have to do? I'm going to have to put you on a curfew. It's going to be like with my kid. Who do you think you are? I'm sorry. I don't care about you. I'm going to send you to your room. I might have to have a conversation. I might have to talk to your mom about you moving back in because you might have to move back in the house. Okay. Or, or I might have to talk to Chelsea about you coming and living with us. And it might be the whole thing where I actually have to turn my Xfinity. For Luke to go to bed, I would have to turn my Xfinity wifi off in the house so that Luke wasn't on his phone or his computers. I get to live with Chelsea. I'll let you sleep with Chelsea. As long as you get an eight-hour day, you know that. Chelsea, we care about you. Shannon, I'm telling you, you know what he does? You don't learn about sleep until you – like when I was younger and I was doing this job in my 20s, even my 30s, possibly even 40s. You think you're invincible, and then it catches up to you. You got to get some sleep. I do get sleep. Yeah.

01:08:13 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 4:

I went to bed the same time yesterday.

01:08:15 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 3:

You're FaceTiming somebody at what time again? Midnight? The show starts at 5 o'clock.

01:08:20 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 4:

I did the same thing yesterday and the day before that. Your eyes are like half open right now. They are. For real. It's a tired day, guys. You're like scinting. Glossy eyes. Let me see. So the outgoing call started at 11.36 and it went for 54 minutes.

01:08:35 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 1:

Once it hits 10 o'clock, I start to panic. Hold on a second. If I'm still awake. I'm not joking. I get like massive anxiety.

01:08:41 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 3:

I know I'm acting like your dad. And I'm not your dad because there's only one dad. And that is Kevin Irwin, the first. The first. Kevin Irwin, what's happening, Dad?

01:08:54 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 2:

This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show. Good morning, Mojo. Good morning, Kev's dad. How are you? Amazingly fine. If I was doing any better, I'd be sitting. Yes, I would be. Wow.

01:09:13 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 3:

How much sleep do you get a night? You sound like you got a good night's sleep last night.

01:09:17 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, I do. You know, and rest is very, very important. I mean, rest, you must rest in order to be your best. Kevin, listen up. You got to rest in order to be your best.

01:09:30 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 3:

Cameron, you hear that? That no watching some useless Denver Nuggets game.

01:09:36 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 2:

It was a good game last night. Well, I don't know now. I don't know now. That's part of Kevin's routine. Kevin has a lot of jobs now. So he's got to stay on top of things. Come on now, Mojo.

01:09:48 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 3:

I know, but he can read about it in the morning or, you know, watch.

01:09:52 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, no. He can read about it in the morning and be about it at night as well.

01:09:57 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

How about that? Oh, my gosh. Well, I thought you were going to help.

01:10:00 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 2:

me with this thing i thought we were going to parent this guy together here and listen we are

01:10:04 - 01:10:08 | Speaker 1:

mojo but i'm still waiting on that phone call but i won't mention we tried to you changed your phone

01:10:08 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 2:

number you got rid of your old why did you change your phone number yesterday actually actually you

01:10:14 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 1:

know i didn't see that that that text until later that evening and uh and and and uh lydia was so kind enough to respond and and get with her this morning but i would just like a heads up you know because I hope things can do as well, man. I just can't sit around waiting on you guys to call.

01:10:31 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, we definitely got to get to you. Here's the deal. We got to talk to Kevin about going to bed early. I'm a little worried about him. I want him to be better. You know, he was sick there for a little bit. We all know that. And then he gave the influenza virus to Megan, and then she got sick. So they're all, you know what I mean?

01:10:50 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

That's not funny. I'm sorry.

01:10:51 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I think she got that at Frickers, and I don't think she got that for me.

01:10:59 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know, Kevin, well, you know, man, Rush is not going to be really a major priority these next 24 or 48 hours. You know that.

01:11:10 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

Why is that?

01:11:11 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 1:

Because Kevin, you know Kevin's birthday is tomorrow. I know that.

01:11:15 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 2:

I was waiting for you to say that.

01:11:17 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 1:

And, you know, he's official. He can run for president. You got to be 35. Oh, I never knew that.

01:11:24 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

I forgot about that.

01:11:25 - 01:11:26 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:11:26 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we talked yesterday on the show about. Oh, yeah. We talked about where you were conceived. And Kevin said that his was a boring one. Where did you. I was about. I don't know if I can say that. Where did. Yeah. Where was I conceived? Where did you do Kevin's mom?

01:11:41 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 1:

Exactly when he was conceived. Oh. Where? He was conceived on Churchill Street in Detroit. On the east side. In a house or in a car? No, no, no, no, Kevin. That's what we live. My fault. No, yeah, White Hill. Now, I'm a West Sider all my life, but it was such a great deal back in 89 that I bought this house. So that's what Kevin was, that's Kevin's first home. But Kevin was conceived on Churchill Street. And I want to say maybe we started out a job probably maybe around October or something. And it finally came through. Kevin was born 3.57 a.m. on a Wednesday. He weighed in at seven pounds, four ounces, just like his father. Oh, my God. Wow. And tomorrow we're celebrating Kev. You doled all right. Now, listen to this real quick, man. This is so funny. I went to pick Kevin up one morning from school. Five years old. He was in kindergarten. So when I get to the school, they say, hey, Mr. Irwin, how you doing? I say, hey, I'm fine, cool. He said, man, boy, that Kevin was cutting up today. I said, what? And I said, I'm going to talk to him again. Now, this is a true story. God's truth, man. We're never getting up. I'm a little upset. I put Kevin in the back seat. I'm driving my 88 Toyota Corolla at the time. Detail. Great car. Anyway, I'm going off. Kevin's in the back seat. I'm going off. I'm going off. I'm looking in the mirror. He's looking. He's just being quiet. So I'm repeating myself. Finally, I'm just tired of talking. And there's a pause, about five seconds. And all of a sudden, Kevin said, Daddy, what? I'm going to pray for you. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

01:13:37 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's amazing. That sounds like a Kev thing, doesn't it? You know who that sounds like? That sounds like Josiah. That sounds like something that Josiah is. Hold on a second. Hold on. Danny wants to make a comment. Danny, we're on with Kev's dad here. What did you want to say?

01:13:53 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Danny? Good morning. Good morning. Hi, guys. I just wanted to say I love when Big Kev calls. He makes my day even better than the Mojo Show does.

01:14:03 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 2:

Wow, I love that.

01:14:05 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know what? You didn't get, Kevin was supposed to say, and that dad on the phone. Well, it's actually my second time, not my first time. That's okay. Danny's on the phone. Hey, well, you know it's better the second time around. Oh, baby.

01:14:25 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, listen, Big Kev, as Danny calls, Big Kev, we're going to get going here, too. But I'm glad that you called Kevin, that he needs to go to bed, okay? He needs to get to bed early.

01:14:38 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Certainly, man. Get your rest in all seriousness. And you guys, all of you guys get your rest because you all start our day. And remember, remember, man, this is the Mojo. There he is. Hey, Mojo, I love you. I love you, buddy. I love you. We love you, too. All right, and we'll talk later, and I'll call.

01:15:00 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 2:

I'll call you tomorrow, Kevin, to answer the doggone phone. I love you. I love you, too, man. Wait, do you not answer the phone? He say he'd be calling me, bro, but, you know. No, I'm just messing with you now, Kevin. I'm just messing with him. That's my guy. Give him a call. But I'll talk to you tomorrow, and I love you guys. And continue to make the radio listeners happy.

01:15:20 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 3:

I love it. By the way, you know what I'm going to get Kevin, by the way, for his birthday? I'm going to get him a television that doesn't work, so he's not watching these games.

01:15:28 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

01:15:29 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 3:

And a bed. We need a bed for you. You know what Kevin needs? Kevin needs a mattress endorsement. Are there any of these mattress companies out there? Because then he has to be in bed. Sleep number, purple, Casper.

01:15:40 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 2:

We'll all be great ones. I'll take a car endorsement, too. They got these massage seats out. That'll relax you for real. Sleep in your car. There you go.

01:15:47 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 4:

Why not? All right. Kev is an acquired taste. Don't like him? Acquire some taste. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:56 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Hey, get ready because coming up here in just a little bit, a big announcement about our More Mojo podcast.

01:16:26 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

Ignition, sequence, start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:16:30 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you ready?

01:16:32 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:16:34 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo hat. hey get ready because we got a major announcement coming up here in the next 10 minutes about our more mojo podcast live number two okay we do this and we're doing it every single year where we're doing our more mojo podcast out of the studio and not just recording it we're doing it in front of you so we're giving you a chance to hang out and be part of this podcast we'll give you all the details on that coming up here in just a little bit on the mojo in the morning show so stick around excited for this it's gonna be great it's gonna be a lot of fun uh last year's was completely sold out right away and everybody loved it it raised a ton of money for breaking entering christmas wish this year yeah we're gonna have it a little bit different than last year by your recommendations all right mojo in the morning show shannon thinks that she might be the worst parent ever, which I disagree with. I think she's a fantastic mother. Sports parent,

01:17:37 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 1:

specifically. Sports parent. Can I tell you something? I feel like we do this topic every couple of months and I deserve it. I know I do. I am calling myself out here. So both of my kids right now are starting their lacrosse seasons. And for Smith, this is his very first lacrosse season ever. And he loves it and he's having so much fun. His dad was a lacrosse player all through college. So it's just like a big sport for Smith to be playing. Well, he had practice yesterday and he is kind of a nervous kid when it comes to pickup. He likes me to come 20 or 30 minutes early just so he can see me. He knows I'm there. Everyone's in a great while. The coach will let them go a couple of minutes early. So he wants to make sure mom or somebody is there to pick him

01:18:22 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 3:

up in the event that happens. Okay. Which by the way, I have to tell you that when that does happen to you where you get out early and you go and see that your mom is not there your dad is not there the worst that is the most depressed like if you forget to pick up a kid like that's the worst and

01:18:37 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 1:

yeah smith is not one to do that with because no he loves you and he when you drop him off he will say be here at 5 15 because practice ends at 5 45 exact time he knows the exact time he also i learned this from his coach yesterday he will ask his coach how much time is left in practice he read to go bro because he wants to make sure that somebody's there his coach actually told him yesterday i'm digressing but he said smith you need to stop asking me when practice is going to

01:19:07 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 3:

be over because he asked seven times yesterday bro ready to go by the way i don't think likes

01:19:13 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 1:

this sport he actually does like lacrosse but apparently my ex-husband told the coach whenever smith asks how much longer you know do we have practice make them run wow so like teach him you are here you you have your watch on you know how much time is you know practice ends at 5 45 you good it's not going to change watch during the the practice because he's so crazy about this

01:19:38 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 3:

that's funny because we would always when i coached uh the kids but it was basketball we would always say i don't think lacrosse would be similar because you can get contact yeah i say no jewelry I get it.

01:19:48 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

He's so bundled up in the gear or whatever it is. And it's cold now, too, right? Okay. So that brings me to yesterday. It is cold. I showed up 20 minutes early yesterday.

01:20:00 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 2:

Luce and I roll up, I park, and I see all of the other good sports parents on the side of the field cheering their kids on because they're doing a scrimmage or whatever, and I look at Lucy, and I said, I am not getting out of this very toasty, warm car to go cheer him on. So we sat there, and whenever Smith had the ball, I rolled down my window and screamed, Go, Smith! From inside my 80-degree car with the heat blasting. And Luz and I just sat and chatted and browsed Instagram. And she'd be like, Mom, Mom, Smith's got the ball. I'd roll down my window and be like, Yes, man! I was not getting out of my vehicle. It was so freaking cold.

01:20:47 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 1:

You should even not roll down the window. Just started doing a quick little horn honk or something like that.

01:20:54 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 2:

It was funny because I think he was like, What the heck is going on? At one point, he stood there with his stick and just looked at me.

01:21:01 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:21:01 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 2:

Like, aren't you getting out and coming with all the other moms and dads? No.

01:21:05 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 1:

So I remember Jacob and Luke played soccer. And first off, soccer and, like, t-ball are, like, the worst, to me, sports for weather. Because the weather always sucks. The only good thing about t-ball is they'll cancel t-ball games. Soccer, they still play in bad weather. I think lacrosse is probably like that, too. Lacrosse, you still play. Yeah, and the funniest is the amount of parents that would stay in their cars. Instead of standing there on the sidelines bundled up with an umbrella, or some parents would have the little bubble tents that they would have set up. Like they would have like these, did you ever see those things at all? You can zip and unzip them. Those are a lot.

01:21:40 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 2:

That's reach. Those are a lot.

01:21:42 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 1:

Those what?

01:21:42 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 2:

Those are a lot. A lot? Like, I feel like you look silly if you're standing in one of those.

01:21:46 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, you look silly, but you look like you're at least a parent.

01:21:49 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, okay, to be fair, if it's a game, I'm out of my car. Truly. This past weekend, they both had games, and it was crappy weather, and I did sit there.

01:21:57 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 1:

But why were the other parents out then? Because it was a?

01:22:00 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 2:

Practice. Scrimmage. Okay, I don't think. It was a scrimmage game. It's not listed as a game on my calendar. I'm staying in my car.

01:22:05 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 1:

If you're one of the parents that plays on Smith's team or against Smith's team, will you call us up and take paparazzi pictures?

01:22:10 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 2:

There were many other parents in the row of cars with me, just sitting there.

01:22:15 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 1:

It probably felt like we did it last week in opening day. Oh, my God. You know what? That would have done it in for me right there. but um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number i will fully admit if it's a day like

01:22:29 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 2:

today and it's cold and snowy i'm going please please please cancel the game please cancel the game just cancel the damn game yeah nobody wants to sit out there and none of the kids want to

01:22:41 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 1:

play in if smith says to you i don't feel good and you know he's lying do you let him stay home or, like, how does that work?

01:22:48 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 2:

I've had to be a little more buttoned up about that because I am a sucker, and I have been a sucker for years, and so we're trying, with him especially, to teach him. Like, you've got to be a part of your team group.

01:23:00 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 1:

If you commit to something, you've got to do it. Brittany, or I'm sorry, Tiffany, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:23:06 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I actually coach dance for first to third graders, and I know it may sound harsh, But any time they ask me what time it is until they go home, they run.

01:23:16 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you make them run and dance. That's wild.

01:23:19 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 4:

100%.

01:23:20 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 1:

Hey, quick question as a coach. How many parents do you know don't even come to their kid stuff? Does that happen nowadays at all? Because when I was a kid, I don't think my dad ever came to any of my games.

01:23:31 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, there's competition. So our practices are closed practices. But competitions, it's very few from back in the day.

01:23:40 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 1:

I would rather, don't be offended by this, but be offended. I would rather be out in inclement weather watching my lacrosse kid than sit in a dance competition. That sounds to me like pure torture.

01:23:53 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you definitely have to be some type of person to sit through it.

01:23:56 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:23:57 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 2:

Dance parents are a special breed, and this is a shout-out to you. I danced until I went away to college, and we did competition. Those competitions are all day, sometimes all weekends, whereas to be fair, a lacrosse game is an hour.

01:24:10 - 01:24:16 | Speaker 1:

at the very most. Swimming also seems like you guys have to do a lot of commitment for that, too. But at least you're indoors.

01:24:16 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 2:

Swimming is a good chunk of the day. You're indoors. And I honestly love watching swimming. Yeah.

01:24:20 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 1:

Chyna, what's up?

01:24:21 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 2:

Chyna.

01:24:23 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I just wanted to say I agree with Shannon. I wouldn't get out of my car for just a scurbage. And not only that, but, like, parent pickup, too. Yeah. My daughter does track, and the track schedule says they get out at 6, but she's always done early. And I have other kids. I can't sit there for an hour waiting for her to get out of track. So, I mean, everybody gets out at different times depending on their event. So, you usually just will text me and say, I'm done.

01:24:54 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 1:

You are equally as bad a parent as Shannon, just so you know that.

01:24:58 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

I guess so. I'm not as bad as one.

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 4:

Bad sports, parents, you know.

01:25:01 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

Bad sports, exactly. At least do you cut up the little, like, fruit and things like that for the kids? You know how the kids get the fruit or whatever at the end of the day?

01:25:09 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 1:

Y'all still do oranges? Okay, let me tell you something about sports snacks. No longer are the days of bringing, like, a box of chips from Kroger and some juice boxes. Like, some of these parents, and it is a testament to them, I bow down to you, they create, like, a buffet. Y'all got sure. Or bags. There are bags with like six snacks and two drink choices.

01:25:35 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 2:

It might be your neighborhood, though, too.

01:25:37 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 1:

I mean. I'll be honest with you. It is a lot.

01:25:40 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 2:

That ain't happening in Waterford. I just want to know, are the Capri Suns and orange slices still a thing? No. Oh, come on. The Capri Suns, yes.

01:25:49 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 1:

But if you roll up with a fruit, like I brought a bag of apples one day, and they were like, there's nothing.

01:25:53 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 2:

Really? I thought you always had to have a fruit at soccer or lacrosse.

01:25:59 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 1:

It's like, Teddy's mom brought a cooler filled with popsicles. And I'm like, I'm learning now.

01:26:05 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Casey?

01:26:07 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 3:

So I have multiple sons that play in sports. And in December, I was in Arizona with one child. My husband was in Ohio with another. So grandparents had to take my third son to games in Cleveland. She didn't know when she committed they were outside. It was about 20 degrees. There was about a foot of snow on the field. They literally had four-wheelers out, clawing the field. And I called her, and I said, look, I'm in 80 degrees of sunshine. You don't have to sit out and watch these games. Sit in the car. It's freezing. Do not get out of the car. She goes, what kind of grandma would I be if I didn't sit out there and watch them? You know what? That's a great grandma.

01:26:43 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:26:44 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 3:

That's a good grandma. Yeah, but I said I'm the mom, and I was planning on staying in the car if I was there. So she just sat in the car, and she sat out the entire day.

01:26:50 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

And your kids, by the way, do they love their grandma more than they love you?

01:26:53 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, maybe.

01:26:56 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 2:

you're in warmth weather it's like poor grandma the weekend that she chooses to watch the kids is your name like filet mignon is it like mignon

01:27:10 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 4:

I hate that analogy but yes it is

01:27:14 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 2:

what's happening

01:27:16 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 4:

so I have five sons from elementary to high school and they do everything from wrestling, baseball football the whole nine wrestling i travel miles and miles and miles for football it could be 100 degrees in the summertime it could be october playoffs and you're freezing with snow yeah

01:27:41 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 2:

it's the worst and do you get out of your car or are you like shannon you said it was just a

01:27:47 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 4:

practice i'm still my sons tell me my sons do tell me like mom you don't have to come You don't have to come. I'm at everything. I get off at 5.30 in the morning. I would travel an hour to wrestling, and they're like, Mom, you can go to sleep. Nope, I'm here. I'm there everywhere. I'm still stuck on Mignon. What's your son's name? Nowhere near my name. They're all regular.

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

I like Mignon. Hey, what kind of snacks do the kids get at their games? Do they get good snacks?

01:28:22 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 4:

They get good snacks, okay? See, they don't want orange slices, do they? No, they don't. They will, but it's like... There has to be something else. Yeah.

01:28:35 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 2:

Those kids are bougie. That's amazing. Well, thank you for the call, Mom. I appreciate you.

01:28:42 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Have a good day.

01:28:43 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 2:

Bye. Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. Am I the a-hole or the throwback throwdown? It is time now for a big announcement on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Are we ready for this? Let's go. We're the drum roll. It is time now to announce the More Mojo Podcast 2 live from the Imagine Theaters in Royal Oak, Michigan. Mojo's, or the More Mojo Podcast 2, live from Imagine Theater at Royal Oak, Michigan, is happening on Friday, May the 16th. And if you've never listened to the More Mojo Podcast, the More Mojo Podcast is where we get really raw. We get behind the scenes, and we get real with you, giving you a chance to kind of get to know each and every member of the Mojo in the Morning show, and things that we've done on the show get revealed to you, the listener. The last time that we did it, we went through the history of the Mojo in the Morning Show. This year, we ain't doing that. You know what we're doing? By popular demand. We're doing a lot more Q&A. We're giving you a lot more opportunity to be. part of it along with us um there will be a studio and a studio audience and that studio audience will help us raise money for breaking and entering christmas wish because we do have to charge but the money goes 100 to breaking and entering and imagine also makes us uh or makes a donation to breaking entering christmas wish because we're having it there so they give us a sizable amount of money um general admission tickets are just 25 to get in for the cuddle chairs which is the up close, up front cuddle chairs, which last year, I remember the cuddle chairs, I don't even know how many people it can fit, but I think it can fit a bunch. Like it's, it's, you know, multiple people, $50 for a cuddle chair. That seems cheap to me. That's the way to do it. It's like, honestly, you're right there. You see, you see what the tigers are charging for those upfront green seats that are right behind home plate.

01:30:53 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 1:

I wanted to know.

01:30:53 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 2:

Crazy amounts, $100,000 a ticket for the whole year or something like that.

01:30:57 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what?

01:30:58 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like $100,000 or something like that. Yeah. We're only charging $50 for the upfront cuddle chairs. I mean, I guess we're not a Tigers game, but this is fun. All the proceeds benefit breaking and entering Christmas wish. We are going to have Mojo merch that will be on sale that day. Love that. So shout out to who are the guys that do the Mojo in the Morning merchandise? Ink Detroit. Love those guys, Ink Detroit.

01:31:21 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, this is also a great opportunity because once we're sold out, we're sold out. because obviously we have like that theater to fill and it's a bigger theater, but it is a great opportunity to meet all of us, take some photos. We hang out after the show. It is a really, really fun night. It's fun. And you're doing something great. It's your feel good. You're, you know, your donate. Like I said, your ticket goes to breaking and entering Christmas. Every single penny of it.

01:31:49 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 2:

Last year was a vibe. You can get tickets, by the way, by going. Are we putting this on our mojoswish.org? It's on Mojo's Wish, and it's on MojoInTheMorning.com. Okay, so Mojo'sWish.org, that's the break-and-entering site, and MojoInTheMorning.com, like Lydia just said. You can get your tickets for that. It will give you a link to be able to do it, and the Imagine's doing all that for us. Also, a fun fact from Zach. That's kind of a cool name, isn't it? Fun fact from Zach? I like that. It could be like a Megan Minute. Yeah, I like that a lot. Um, it's, uh, it is to this day, the most streamed more mojo podcast last year's, you got to break a record. Joe podcast. Uh, number one, more mojo podcast. Number one. All right. So that's fine. That's going to be a, it's gonna be good. And if you want more information on that, we'll give it to you, but write this down on your calendar. Friday, May the 16th. I need oxygen. I need oxygen just from getting all that excitement going there for a second. All right. Mojo in the morning. I saw this, and I got to tell you guys, I'm guilty of it. And I want to know if there are any others that are, and if you agree or disagree, I guess is probably more likely. But I saw this on TikTok. So there was a TikToker that put together, for some reason, you know what my algorithms on TikTok are? And I don't understand why. My algorithms on TikTok are for struggles in your marriage, TikToks, like how to make your marriage better and loving and all the rest of the stuff. And I think it's because Chelsea and I do that. Yeah. We don't podcast. And sometimes, you know, we're searching for, you know, topics and things to talk about and stuff. And then the other one is Jordan's better than LeBron. Like those are the videos that come up like reels and then also on my TikToks too. Those are the ones that algorithm to me. I saw this one about relationships and it was asking, is sharing your marriage struggles with a coworker cheating? and what they mean by that is if you're sharing them with a co-worker that is a co-worker of your desired preference okay so a guy sharing them with a female co-worker if you know he's heterosexual or a woman sharing them with a male co-worker you know what i mean uh is that considered cheating and it was pretty interesting because it was really um judgmental on the fact that if you are doing this then you are they say breaking the vow of your marriage because you're sharing too much information and that you should not be doing it if you're going to share something you share it with a person that is somebody that you know is paid to do it like a therapist or maybe you share

01:34:48 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 2:

it with like a really really good friend of yours that is of the same sex or you go to your your

01:34:54 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

person your spouse and you're supposed to like share with that you know you're supposed to

01:35:00 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 3:

You're supposed to be working it out with them instead of spreading it around to other people.

01:35:04 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, and the interesting thing is a lot of times when you're talking about your struggles, you don't share that with your spouse. Which is wild because I'm watching this TikTok and I'm realizing I've been guilty of this. I've done it. I've shared. Jeez, I almost said the bad word there. I've shared stuff with Shannon. I've shared stuff with Ellen, our old producer. I've shared stuff with the producer that was before that. But, you know, I've shared stuff with Lydia probably, too. Same. Like where you go through and you share and you're like, oh, you know, kind of, hey. But it usually is, hey, how are you doing today? Oh, I'm kind of, you know, I was up late last night, whatever. And it's interesting because this is not a good thing then, according to this TikToker.

01:35:47 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 2:

According to this TikToker. I don't think it's cheating, but at times it can be out of pocket. like if you're sharing intimate details of your relationship with people you just got a cool relationship that you see every day and work with maybe that's not the best thing to do because similarly to how we say if i share something with my friend about my spouse well now my friend looks at my spouse differently they your co-worker may have this picture image of your significant other yeah that isn't the full story or the full picture and now they're judging your

01:36:22 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 3:

spouse based on your story i never thought about it that is a very big part of it but i also think and i i learned this the second time around when wes and i were going through our like premarital counseling that we did with the pastor who married us last year um you you are opening up your relationship you are opening up your relationship to the criticism and advice and the mind and the heart of another human being and it's relationships intimate marriage relationships are not designed for that whatsoever um and it you know whether you want to think of it this way or not and i use this analogy a ton it's a crack it becomes a crack in your marriage when you do that because you are not

01:37:06 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 1:

sharing with your your partner why did you learn it this time did it come up at all um it came up

01:37:13 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

not in any sort of bad way it just came up in conversation of like and and wes was actually the person i think that brought it up that it was really important to him that instead of turning outside of the marriage if something was going on in our relationship like it was very very important to him that i bring that to him first for us to figure out and my response right away my knee-jerk reaction was defensive and i'm like well sometimes it's something that's wrong with you and i want to talk about it with my sister i want to talk about it with my you know my best friends and he's like but like it should be here yeah i'm like pointing to fake west next to me

01:37:51 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 1:

it should be here first can i tell you though i do think though that sometimes you can talk to a family or friend or somebody that's close to you and they have to but they have to be a good perspective they have to be the type of person that doesn't that you can tell them without them giving you action items like they have to almost be a listener but i will say this though i think the different part is when it's potentially you telling it to somebody because there's also and there's also a stat that uh this morning i was going to tell you guys uh according to a recent survey 62 of men have admitted to having an affair with somebody in their work 62 of men and they say that in uh relationships where people are right now in a relationship and working in an office with with somebody of the opposite sex one in three men have a person in their office that to me is crazy that's like why is that crazy because that's a lot that's that just shows you that there's a lot of potent there's a lot of uh uh you know bad stuff that could happen and also

01:38:57 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 3:

i would not want west sharing our messy stuff with a woman in his office yeah that would make

01:39:03 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 2:

me super uncomfortable i think a lot of times it comes down to a lack of patience and a lack of intentionality i think if you have a fight the night before sometimes you just need to get it out yeah and you don't either you don't have the therapist or you don't see the person that is your confidant and then you build these relationships we see each other five we see each other more times than we see our best friends or the people that we love yeah and we build these relationships we build these bonds we build these connections that don't always stay in the professional box They get in a friendship box and we allow that to happen.

01:39:34 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's all of us. Exactly. That's all of us for sure.

01:39:37 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 1:

Emily, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about is sharing your struggles in your relationship with a coworker cheating. What's going on? Yes. So my old boss and my old coworker did that for a couple of years now. And they're now both divorced and they're dating each other.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 7:

My boss's ex-wife found a diary of him admitting, like, all of his feelings for my old co-worker.

01:40:07 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 3:

So do you think that the sharing part started and then the relationship started? Or do you think that one or both of them?

01:40:14 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah.

01:40:15 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 3:

So you don't think one or both of them wanted to have a relationship before that?

01:40:19 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 7:

No, I think that they were both sharing because they both were having problems. And, like, once they both started sharing their, like, problems with each other, it kind of became, like, a more intimate relationship. Misery loves company. Yeah, exactly.

01:40:36 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 3:

Man, yeah, well, you know, it's that crack that Shannon was talking about in the relationship. You just honestly just opened that crack a little bit further. Kim, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:40:49 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. So I would say I have a friend who was confiding in a girlfriend. So a girlfriend was confiding in a girlfriend.

01:40:58 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:40:59 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 6:

And unfortunately, the girlfriend took all of the information she was sharing to her because she turned around and had an affair with the husband.

01:41:06 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:41:08 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so you think you're confiding in a friend? Shame on you because she knew exactly what was going on, what wasn't going on. So guess what? She knew what to do.

01:41:16 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. They were plotting on you. Were they really close? Was it a close-knit group of people?

01:41:23 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I would say we were.

01:41:26 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Did the husband work with you guys?

01:41:30 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 6:

No, no. This was just a friend group.

01:41:32 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 3:

Because that's weird.

01:41:33 - 01:41:35 | Speaker 6:

It has nothing to do with work.

01:41:35 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 3:

So it was a friend situation. Okay. So it's all the friends hanging around. That's interesting because I've heard of those situations happening a lot where friend groups get together and they hang out with each other. And then they, some have marital problems and then one of the friend group people end up with the other friend group person that, that, uh, cause you now know all the details of what's going on in that relationship. Eric, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hi, how you doing? Good. What's going on? We're talking about, uh, is it cheating to confide your marriage struggles with somebody else?

01:42:08 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 1:

I think so. I think when you start confiding in, like you said, your preferred sex or whatever, that you start becoming emotionally involved with them, and it's like you're looking for attention from them.

01:42:25 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 3:

Ah, so the intention is that you're becoming closer to them.

01:42:31 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I mean, I've seen it happen at plenty of jobs. I work in kitchens and restaurants and stuff.

01:42:39 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever done it?

01:42:40 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 1:

It's like it's almost, no. It's like it almost becomes the norm for people.

01:42:45 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, you can kind of tell, can't you, with coworkers that are having an affair? Like, there's a lot of people that I've worked with over time that have had relationships with a coworker. And it, to me, never started with them all of a sudden starting to bang each other. It started because one was going through something. And it was like they were like playing therapist or something.

01:43:08 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 2:

Sometimes people just be attracted to each other, dog, and they just need the catalyst in order to take it to that next level, regardless of what it is.

01:43:16 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:43:17 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 2:

And they be plotting on your relationship. Everybody ain't happy for you. Some people want you to be single. They want you. They can get in them drawers. Wow. Why are you looking at me that way? Work wives and work husbands is a real thing. It does.

01:43:31 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't like that phrase. Watch who she go to lunch with. I never liked that phrase. Watch who she go to lunch with every day.

01:43:37 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Her little lunch friend want to smash. Why do you don't like work wives, work husbands?

01:43:41 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 4:

Because it just makes me uncomfortable.

01:43:44 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 3:

Creepy?

01:43:45 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 4:

It's not creepy. That's not the word I would use, but I don't know. Like, my jealousy comes out. I don't want Wes to have a work wife. I want him to have a wife. Me.

01:43:57 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 3:

Facts. What's up, Sarah?

01:43:59 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So this situation kind of happened with my sister. So she had confided in somebody at work and her soon to be ex-husband had seen a text or something and he had accused her of cheating because she had confided in somebody else about their relationship. They had been going through it for a while like she tried to go to him first but he wasn't really listening to her and so she started confiding into somebody else. So, he told, like, my sisters and my brothers that she had cheated on him emotionally, and they took his side. So, she don't even really talk to any of my sisters and brothers anymore because they decided to take her soon-to-be ex-husband side over hers.

01:44:45 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. I lost you. I got lost in this whole thing. I'm sorry. I wasn't really paying attention. No offense. I wasn't paying attention there for a second. I was like, okay, where am I at here? But that sounds like a nice story, but thank you for the call, Sarah.

01:45:00 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 4:

being honest instead of going oh that's interesting i know sometimes i don't think i don't think it was you that was me more me you were attention i wasn't my attention was i was like look bird uh therapist brooke let's wrap this up with a nice bow and give me your therapy thoughts on this

01:45:17 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 1:

yes so my biggest thing here is i don't necessarily think it's cheating but when you're going to somebody outside of the marriage or relationship you're taking away from the other person's opportunity to even understand or know your frustrations yep so a lot of the time we're going to people with our frustrations we're not getting feedback on like oh well maybe this person took it this way or did you try to explain it this way that's usually what is happening 95 percent of the time when people are going out of the relationship they're not getting this response or the person is not receiving their frustrations the way that they want it to or them to in your

01:46:01 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 4:

uh practice how many relationships start in the office zero no i'm saying how many cheating

01:46:10 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 1:

relationships i guess oh clients not you um yes i was like yeah i'm not talking about you i don't want you to divulge your stories i'm talking about we don't have any with your clients yeah clients i would i would say probably about 90 of the people that is what's happening is they have an argument with their significant other they're going to work frustrated the next day or they're getting texts throughout the day and then they're venting to their co-workers they're only hearing the one side making the other person out to be this terrible person and most of the time nobody ever asks okay well what's that other person's side of the story how did you react how what did

01:46:48 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 4:

you do you know it's crazy um you know what by the way it's good to be a therapist isn't it

01:46:53 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 1:

you probably this business no i love what i do you never run out of customers when you're a

01:46:59 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 4:

therapist there's all kinds of craziness going out there right there is but i think the best

01:47:05 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 1:

part of this job is i am able to see both sides of what's going on and i people come in all the time and talk about their significant others but i always like to say okay well what was their view and challenge the other person and we bring you know an individual counseling i'll say let's bring this your you know your husband or wife in next time let's hear the other side so then they can explain their view of how a situation took place right in front of each other with me there and we

01:47:34 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 4:

can work through it that was honestly the the thing that kept chelsea and i together was i finally saw what she was talking about like this the things that i was i was doing and uh and then when i finally saw her side i feel like she then finally saw where i was coming from too i think that it you know it's a it ain't easy right and i and i know marriage relationships are hard and we all don't speak the same language all the time believe me and i think that society doesn't want to keep marriages together i think it's there's a lot of uh there's a lot of things out there that keep

01:48:06 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 3:

that pull them apart yeah 100% y'all talking that bible talk nah i'm talking about you

01:48:14 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 4:

same thing you over there you know what he asked me yesterday what what i asked you can i say what you said to me i guess i can't he said to me he goes yo mojo he goes you think lydia and i could

01:48:25 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

be in a relationship he asked me too and i was very honest with my is there an inner office There's no romance going on between you two guys. Lydia don't want me, dog. My God, no, there's not. There's no romance.

01:48:36 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 4:

I think there's something going on between you two guys.

01:48:37 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 3:

What did you say when asked? He said no.

01:48:39 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 4:

I said no. I said, well, first off, no, because you can't, there's no way you guys could work together. Like, that would be, I don't think that it would not be successful. It would ruin the dynamic of things.

01:48:50 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, are you being serious?

01:48:51 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 4:

I already asked who I am for your end of marriage.

01:48:54 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 3:

He called your mom to talk to me about this. I'm asking George next week.

01:48:57 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 2:

I asked my mom yesterday what she said. I told her about the conversation you and Kev had, and she thought it was funny that Kev said that he had her blessing.

01:49:05 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Wait, now I want to call your mom. I want to call your mom.

01:49:09 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 4:

I think that this might have to be a topic. Whatever.

01:49:14 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 3:

That's why you said we need to call Zayanne.

01:49:15 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 4:

All right, let's do the dirty and we'll come back. Let's make sure that's Lydia's mom.

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 2:

Kevin needs to sit on it first.

01:49:19 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 4:

Let's do the dirty. You said you need to sit on it first?

01:49:21 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you need to sit on the topic first.

01:49:23 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I thought you said you need to sit on it first. I didn't know where we were going. He's getting dad joke funny sexual right there.

01:49:29 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 3:

It's not a dad joke.

01:49:31 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't think it's any joke. Here's the one thing, though, you know, if you're in a relationship with...

01:49:37 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Ask her if she likes nuts. That's a good joke. I might spin the block on you. We're doing our own show over here. More on the Mojo podcast. All right. Sorry you got caught cheating by not deleting those texts you meant to delete. Another War of the Roses is after nine on Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:59 - 01:50:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:50:00 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're giving you a shot right now to win a car. We are giving you a car. Yes, it's Find the Fob. Brought to you by Moran Automotive. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. You could win a brand-new Chevy right now. Call to Find the Fob. Our grand finale of this will be May the 2nd. So we're just going to grab some qualifiers here, grab some contestants, and somebody's going to win a brand-new car, $25,000 cash. it could be you. All right, Shannon, with what is trending? What's going on? Well, Michelle Obama

01:50:38 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 1:

is opening up about all of these rumors about her marriage. There's so much speculation that she and former President Barack Obama are getting divorced or in the process of getting divorced. And these rumors really started back in December around the holidays. She then skipped Jimmy carter's funeral announced she wasn't going to be at president trump's inauguration it was also recently reported in the tabloids that the obama's largest donors have dropped them all of these

01:51:07 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 2:

things well she makes an appearance the rumor that he was fooling around with jennifer aniston which

01:51:12 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 1:

was just wild come on man to me she appeared on sophia bush's work in progress podcast and blamed society for its unfair standards on women for all of these rumors as women i think we struggle with

01:51:27 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 4:

like disappointing people yeah you know i mean so much so that this year people were they couldn't even fathom that i was making a choice for myself that they had to assume that my husband and i are divorcing this couldn't be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself right right that's what society does to us we start actually finally like going what am i what am i doing you know who am i doing this for and if it doesn't fit into the sort of stereotype of what people think we should do then it gets labeled as something negative and horrible

01:52:04 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 1:

i very much agree with her so fortnight do any of you guys play fortnight i do okay um i don't understand fortnight but apparently this is a big thing so there are certain players that are causing all sorts of chaos for rule enforcers as many of them are refusing to shoot opponents in sabrina carpenter skins and i guess this is like the opposite of what you're like you're supposed to somebody had to explain this to me you're supposed to eliminate every opponent unless you're officially paired in duos trios or squads so teaming up with enemies in solo mode is a big no-no and that's what people are doing here so sabrina carpenter is officially headlining Fortnite Festival Season 8. And that means players have access to all sorts of like the tour-ready Sabrina outfit, the purse bling, the, I don't even know what some of this stuff this is. The please, please, please emote. I have no clue. Like I'm talking about this and I'm just being very candid with you. But anybody caught doing things like this in Fortnite, it's usually considered to be cheating and is banned. I don't know why people are getting away with it now, but Fortnite players are really pissed off about it.

01:53:16 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 2:

So I know you said you took the kids to go see Minecraft.

01:53:19 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:53:19 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 2:

Do the kids play Fortnite at all? Because I know Minecraft, obviously, they must play, right?

01:53:25 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 1:

Smith was allowed to download Fortnite. Usually him and his dad, his dad and I are on the same page about a lot of things. This happened. I'm not super excited about this one. He plays very little Fortnite. He plays a lot of Minecraft, which I don't know if it's that much better. But I still, I don't understand it. Wes had to look at it to make sure that he wasn't able to talk to other, like, correspond with other people in the game.

01:53:50 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 3:

Unless, like you were mentioning.

01:53:51 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 1:

Because I don't understand that, but.

01:53:53 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 3:

Unless, like you were mentioning, duos and squads where you friend someone that you basically already know. Yeah, he's not. Then you can talk to him.

01:53:59 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 2:

GTA's next.

01:54:01 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 3:

That's a fact. I mean, you want to talk about real games that you should be playing. That might be one of them. Fortnite, the vibe. Go in there, kill people, throw grenades, have a good time.

01:54:08 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean, he tells me, is there such a thing as Battle Royale? Is that the game? Yeah, that's the same. He's like, it was a battle royale. I have no clue what he's very excited about. I never thought that Weezer would be in the dirty, the band Weezer. Yes. So did you guys hear the story about the wife of Weezer's bassist this week? I saw it on national news last night. Yes, that is why I'm doing it in the dirty. So Scott Schreiner is his name. His wife's name is Jillian. She was shot by police and booked for attempted murder after interfering with a police chase in L.A. on Tuesday. The LAPD responding to a hit and run on a freeway. Three suspects involved in this thing fled the scene, headed toward a residential neighborhood. So cops quickly barricaded that area. A woman identified as Jillian, that's what we're talking about, allegedly came out of her.

01:55:00 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 2:

home in that neighborhood with a gun she was allegedly told several times by police to drop her weapon she did not she pointed it at police instead she was shot ran into her home and later treated for non-threatening gunshot wounds but booked for attempted murder i don't understand

01:55:19 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 3:

why she walked outside with the gun i don't either i'm we're not getting all of the details about this story of the guy though is interesting because the guy that they were searching for he tried to blend in in the neighborhood so he was like watering flowers or something like that like pretending he lived there but he was in his underwear or pantless or something like that i i was watching them do the the story on uh nightly news last night and i'm like going that's crazy and then the whole weezer story coming out that that piece that the wife of

01:55:49 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 2:

one of the band members yeah yeah and lastly this is another crazy story that has gone viral today a burial in Philadelphia took a crazy turn when several of the pallbearers carrying the coffin fell into the grave as this ceremony was happening. Okay, did you see this? This was the scene last

01:56:12 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 1:

week. During a graveside service for Benjamin Aviles, family and friends rushed to help these men after the wooden platform collapsed, sending them into the burial site. Some of them trapped by the weight of that casket here you see it again oh it's so scary oh the son of the man who passed away look at that suffered the most serious injuries yeah so relatives are blaming

01:56:38 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 2:

the funeral home in the cemetery because they're saying they you know it was a slippery platform it was unsafe conditions look at that i mean they went right into the ground holy cow take it to

01:56:48 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 3:

the ground part is i think that somebody screwed up and just didn't put it up there enough and

01:56:52 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Correct, like they didn't care. Now the funeral home is going to get sued for that. Oh, yeah. For all of today's Dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the iHeartRadio app.

01:58:44 - 01:59:19 | Speaker 5:

well uh the first time they fixed it and customer service said that they would let us only pay eight hundred and eighty dollars only eight hundred and eighty dollars and then the second time it was under like their warranty of yeah because it it uh it blew before the two years and then the third time it blew um it was past the two and a half years or two years, and we had to put $5,700 into it.

In this morning's War of the Roses, a sister busts her brother cheating and what the aftermath is for the entire family. You'll hear that in just a little bit. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Mojo with Megan out today. She'll be back next week from vacation. Shannon, we got Kev. We've got Lydia, Bianca, Zach all hanging out here with us. And yesterday was like the weirdest question ever. Kev asked Shannon and then asked me, What do we think about him and Lydia dating each other?

02:00:58 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 2:

And he was serious. You were very serious. I'm always serious when it comes to Lydia. I can tell when you're joking and you.

02:01:07 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 3:

Is he serious or is he joking?

02:01:08 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 2:

I didn't think he was joking.

02:01:09 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 4:

I just love to switch up. Maybe because y'all done got to know me a little bit more. But Mojo used to always say that. He used to be like, man, you and Lydia make a great couple. Now your tune is a bit different.

02:01:18 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 3:

My tune is different because.

02:01:20 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 4:

He used to say that when I was with Sherelle.

02:01:21 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, I never said that when you were with Sherelle. I would never say that. What are you talking about? I said that when you were going through your thing, I used to think that there was something between you and Megan.

02:01:37 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 2:

Everybody did.

02:01:38 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 3:

I think you're something flirty with you.

02:01:43 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 4:

I mean, everybody always said I was going to flirt.

02:01:45 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Um, and then, then I thought also Bianca too, because, you know, that's a new one.

02:01:53 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 4:

It's just, it's just in.

02:01:54 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, there also was a little bit, there was a little bit of, you know, possibly you and

02:01:58 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 2:

Bianca, you know, uh, as he's farting at everybody's faces.

02:02:04 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

All right. Here's the deal. If you're going to date, go big, go big, go Shannon. You got to go Shannon. You know what I mean?

02:02:12 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 2:

I love you. I love my husband.

02:02:15 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 3:

they aren't big enough also no no here's here no here's the thing i don't like the idea of the the inner office uh you know relationship but i want to ask the listeners their thoughts on this not just because of lydia and by the way don't just call up and go i love lydia and i don't want her to do this or i love lydia and i want her to stay this or kevin whatever i want the people that are in relationships with a co-worker if you are in a relationship with a co-worker i want you to tell us why it's a good thing or a bad thing and i want you and i'm guessing we're gonna have more good things because you're in a relationship you're not gonna say how bad it is

02:02:47 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 4:

although maybe you'll be honest we should get calls from every single person from rocky mortgage

02:02:52 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 3:

why are they all they're all boy you used to work there did you see a lot of that's how josiah

02:02:57 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 4:

got into this world oh really uh josiah's mom she used to work there i definitely said this well then i forgot i didn't know yeah for sure them uh them work parties bro and they used to

02:03:08 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 3:

floss all used to be there people were like uh staying in each other's rooms and stuff man it

02:03:14 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 4:

used to go crazy it ain't it ain't now i've never done anything with the married person i did um drink some cookies i guess one time from a married woman but that's the furthest thing i've done and that was a drunk day i'm not not proud of that moment but man the wedding rings used to come

02:03:30 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 3:

off at some of them parties tell you that okay so i want to know the thoughts of like like what Lydia's mom would think of this because I know Lydia's mom is very close with you she loves you I know that you and her have a good relationship but you know who you gotta get past

02:03:49 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 4:

George

02:03:50 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 3:

her dad yeah that's my dog well not you're you guys are dogs because you're co-workers I think he sees your hairy ass sitting on their couch

02:04:01 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 2:

his ass more hairier than mine I think he would love it

02:04:04 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

you think so

02:04:05 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 2:

George and Cyan are obsessed with Kev I don't know

02:04:08 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't think that any mother and father wants the best for their son or daughter, regardless of where that person is from, what their religion is, or whatever the case may be. They just want to make sure that their person is the one for their child.

02:04:19 - 02:04:22 | Speaker 3:

I think George takes you out to an empty lot in Macomb somewhere.

02:04:23 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 4:

And I come back with a bear.

02:04:27 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. So we're going to get, Lydia, this is tough because you're not talking at all because you're working the phones. But you do have a say-so in this. What do you think about this, Lydia?

02:04:38 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 2:

I think Kevin is full of ass. I don't think that he actually means any of this. He's bamboozled all of you.

02:04:46 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 3:

But what if he did mean this? Would this be something that you would be interested in?

02:04:51 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

No. I love Kevin, but I've always seen him like a brother.

02:04:55 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 3:

So you don't look at him in any romantic feelings at all?

02:04:58 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:04:58 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Not even in a drunken...

02:05:00 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 1:

stupor i've never been drunk and stupor around kevin yes i do get drunk kevin oh do you you've

02:05:06 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 5:

never seen lydia drunk i don't think so she's she's kept that side hidden hold on a second here

02:05:11 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

uh cyan i'm with us right now this is lydia my favorite mom cyan what hi what are your thoughts about uh kevin and lydia possibly dating i would not have a problem with that how would george

02:05:27 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 1:

i don't know how george would feel but i'll tell you what um i love kevin but it doesn't matter how i feel either it's between kevin and lydia and i feel like lydia just loves him so much like a brother yes that i don't think it would work yeah but i love kevin and i love you too mother-in-law

02:05:50 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 4:

i never thought i'd be pre-arranged but here we are what do you think how do you think josiah

02:05:58 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 5:

would feel about uh uh josiah loves god lydia loves god i think it'll work okay i uh i have

02:06:08 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 4:

a tough rant on see wow can i be honest with you i do not like this topic at all i thought that this topic was a bad topic to get

02:06:17 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 3:

to the get-go. Why? Because it's not going the way you want it to go? No.

02:06:21 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not that I don't want it to go the way I want it to go. It makes you uncomfortable? It makes me feel uncomfortable because I look at Lydia like a sister and I think that Kevin's not good enough

02:06:29 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 5:

for her. Maybe you're right.

02:06:31 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Let's find out. Kevin's had too much action on the side. I'm a little bit worried about all the action he's had. I just don't think their personalities

02:06:38 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 5:

would match in a romantic relationship

02:06:40 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 4:

whatsoever. Do you think that they could get... Could you see them getting serious

02:06:43 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

with each other and like no i could not see them in a relationship either they're kind of goofy i mean how many success stories have come out of uh work relationships or i just mean you know never mind what do you mean no i mean you know just how many successful relationships have come from people who didn't see it working out in the first place that's true that's true

02:07:04 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 4:

opposites usually attract would kevin turn his topics in on time if he was she'd be sleeping next to me so she would know your topics she'd be a part of your time yeah and then at that point

02:07:15 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 1:

you would just have to do them there's no questions asked that's right you can't go back and forth on

02:07:19 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 4:

the air about that oh that's right you gotta listen to her you know what that would be an interesting one too would he listen would he listen to her did you just make a whip sound effect yeah put me in place wow i think i don't do whips i think he needs more than a whip i think he needs a big old donk on the head but um hold on hold on eric what's going on eric what are your thoughts from a person who's in a relationship with a co-worker okay so I ended up marrying my

02:07:45 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 3:

wife we met at where we used to work at a restaurant at Albeck Steakhouse yeah um but while working there we started dating and that was you know it was a great way to meet and really get to know her uh but then like as the relationship went on uh I realized how terrible it was um so So we decided, like, wait, wait, I love you. So we ended up, like, working different jobs. At first it was fine.

02:08:14 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 4:

So it's tough to bring your work home, right?

02:08:18 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the hardest, the absolute hardest part about working together, because we were in a restaurant.

02:08:26 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 4:

Or bring your home to work.

02:08:28 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it would be, like, if there was something that happened at work, it's extremely hard especially when if the situation happened with your co-worker to just drop it when you leave like no that that like she's not gonna stop thinking about it she's not

02:08:44 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 4:

she's when you both smell like blooming onions i can only imagine that that could cause for difficulty too but anita you met your husband at work and then you guys started dating yes

02:08:57 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 2:

And we worked together, and I didn't really pay him much attention. And then he started making his presence known, and we dated, and we got married.

02:09:10 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 4:

The rest is history. And is it a good thing to date somebody or be married to somebody that you're working with?

02:09:17 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 2:

I think it depends. Like, with us, I work in the office, and he works outside the office. So if I had to be in the office with him all day, every day, it would not be a good thing.

02:09:33 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I would assume. Well, and this show, by the way, is interesting because we work so closely with each other, both during the show, but also after the show, too. That'd be a lot of time that you'd be bringing work home. What's up, Jordan? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about the hypothetical of could Kevin Lydia date?

02:09:52 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I'm very confused by this because you are saying no, no, no.

02:10:00 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 1:

inter-office romance.

02:10:02 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 3:

He brought it up like three days in a row.

02:10:04 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 2:

No, it was yesterday that he actually brought it up for the first time. He'll probably bring it up tomorrow. Listen, Jordan. I'm going to beat your ass if I ever see you. What does Jordan look like? I want to see what he looks like sometime. Hold on a second. Cassidy says, my boyfriend and I met at work. Oh, and they work at UWM. Is that right?

02:10:31 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 3:

That's another one. So I used to work there, but that's how we met initially.

02:10:35 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

And you say that at work he actually had kind of an interesting reputation?

02:10:40 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 3:

So I feel like it can be good and bad. So we got to spend a lot of time together because we worked at the same place. Yeah. But I feel like when you work with someone that you're in a relationship with, your reputation kind of gets tied to that person, like good or bad. Oh, for sure. Oh, that's interesting.

02:10:56 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 2:

And what was his reputation like?

02:11:00 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 3:

He would like to come in really early to work. And sometimes they want you to be there, like, right on time. But he was also the social butterfly, so everyone kind of knew who he was.

02:11:11 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so they don't like you to come in early at UWM?

02:11:15 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Allegedly? It depends on the department.

02:11:18 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

I'd be like, that would be wonderful if I could get some people that work for us to come in early. That'd be awesome.

02:11:24 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 3:

Because, yeah, I think because some of the visits that they do is, like, with California, some people have to come in a little bit later, so they really don't want you to come in at your specific time. Okay. Yeah.

02:11:36 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What do you think the hardest part would be for Lydia dealing with Kevin 24-7 if they dated?

02:11:46 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 3:

I like their banter back and forth, but I feel like after a while, it'd kind of be, like, hard to hard to do 24 7 i would kind of need to distance myself a little bit like hey

02:11:57 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 2:

fill out yeah there's a couple of texters here that are interesting and we haven't been able to get them on the phone but one of them i love the comment is you don't spit where you eat which is one and then another person uh text in and tell me that this is uh this is an interesting one because it's all about the the ethnicities would they would they blend and mix um do chaldeans and black people ever get married or date?

02:12:22 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 1:

Are we having that conversation? Chaldeans and black people ever get married.

02:12:27 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 2:

I've never seen a... Lydia, you're Chaldean. Have you ever seen where there's been Chaldean and an African-American dating each other? I see very rare Chaldeans and just straight-on Caucasians dating each other.

02:12:47 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

I have two. I have two friends. Really? Yeah, two Chaldean friends.

02:12:50 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 2:

That are dating?

02:12:52 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Black guys.

02:12:53 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. And how did, because you always hear the old school stuff about that.

02:12:56 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 3:

One got married and has two kids.

02:12:58 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 2:

And their dads and uncles and our grandparents and stuff didn't have any issues?

02:13:03 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's good. I mean, I guess there's no problem.

02:13:05 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 2:

That's nice to know.

02:13:06 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 1:

And even if it is. That's nice. Hopefully we strong enough. Love is love, Kevin. And our bond is strong enough that it don't matter what they say. Yeah, love is love.

02:13:13 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 2:

What about Kevin's work and all the stuff that he does? He's going to be working like five different jobs and everything like that.

02:13:19 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 3:

That's less time away from him.

02:13:21 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you kind of like that?

02:13:23 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love that.

02:13:24 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Kevin, would you?

02:13:25 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 1:

We're making it work already, guys.

02:13:27 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, are you a guy that would allow? Because there are some guys that don't like their women working.

02:13:36 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 1:

You okay with her still keeping this job? I'm not going to be one that stun anybody's dreams. If Lydia got her own ambitions, I'm going to be there to support.

02:13:43 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What if Lydia makes more money than you and you find that out? Will you be upset?

02:13:48 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm not insecure in that way.

02:13:50 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What if Cyan says that she wants 28 grandchildren? Can you perform?

02:13:56 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

If the hair right, Biggie, the hair night. What?

02:14:00 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 3:

Are we done with the joke now? It's a bit over. It's a bit over.

02:14:07 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, I guess we learned.

02:14:10 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, poor Cyan. Her mom is still in the fall. I'm sorry, Cyan.

02:14:14 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 2:

Cyan, I guess we learned that this is happening. We better call an engagement party. What do we do? I don't know.

02:14:21 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 3:

Let's call Uncle George first.

02:14:22 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 2:

Let's go. All right. Next call is to George. Call him now. WKQI Detroit.

02:14:28 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 1:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:14:39 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning if you ever suspect that you're being cheated on text cheater to 95500 this was an interesting person that texted cheater to us it is time to bust a cheater and an interesting one today because you never know who's going to text you when you say hey if you think that you know of some

02:15:00 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 1:

If somebody's cheating, text CHEATER to 95500. Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry.

02:15:06 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 2:

It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:15:09 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 1:

Miranda, will you tell everybody who you think is cheating?

02:15:13 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 2:

My brother.

02:15:15 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 1:

Your brother you think is cheating on his wife?

02:15:19 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 2:

On his girlfriend.

02:15:21 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 1:

On his girlfriend. And are you, like, really close to his girlfriend that you're willing to call out your brother like this?

02:15:28 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 2:

yes she's one of my closest friends and she's kind of become a family member to us

02:15:33 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 1:

so why are we not having her on here to make this phone call why is it that you're the one doing this

02:15:39 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 2:

i just kind of want to figure out first if it's actually happening before i cause any sort of

02:15:46 - 02:15:51 | Speaker 1:

chaos you and your brother not have like a close relationship where you feel like you can just talk

02:15:51 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 2:

to him well i don't know if he's gonna lie or not if he's lying to her

02:15:56 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 1:

so you think that he potentially is cheating and your goal is if he's not then you'll never bring it up to her and ever talk about it and if he is yeah will you tell her that's unfortunately the plan wow so this is pretty wild because i feel like brothers and sisters will have their siblings back no matter what and and i i feel like you're not having his back by doing this

02:16:28 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 2:

i mean at this point they've been together so long she's she's family to me too wow so you're

02:16:36 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 1:

choosing her if that's the case uh we're gonna call him up to see where he's gonna send a dozen free roses this could be something that divides a family i feel like even you just doing this

02:16:48 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 3:

is gonna cause some drama

02:16:50 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 2:

well not as much drama as he'd cause if he was cheating oh wow so you're okay with doing this

02:16:58 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 1:

still i just want to give you an out i'm okay with doing this all right war of the roses who are we hoping that the flowers go to what's your uh your brother's uh girlfriend's name cassie we're hoping that the roses go to cassie mute your phone

02:17:15 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 3:

02:18:51 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 3:

02:20:00 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 2:

Michael, I'm going to jump on real quick and then we'll send those flowers off. We'll send the message off to your friend, Lisa. Before I do, I have somebody that would like to say hello to you if you're okay with that.

02:20:14 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Sure, who's that?

02:20:17 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 2:

Michael, your sister Miranda's on the phone. Miranda?

02:20:20 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding? Michael, you lying, piece of s***. What are you doing?

02:20:30 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Michael, your sister, Miranda, is on the phone and was hoping that you were going to send the flowers to your girlfriend, Cassie. He hung up the phone. Do you know who this girl is?

02:20:50 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea who Lisa is, but I did see her picking him up last night.

02:20:55 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 2:

So wait a second. So you didn't tell us that. You saw a girl other than his girlfriend Picking him up last night

02:21:02 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah Late too

02:21:06 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 2:

How do you think this is going to go over With your family that you just did this

02:21:11 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea

02:21:14 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 2:

You think your parents are the type of people That and you know Other family members are the type of people that will stick up for him Or will they call him out for what he did

02:21:25 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm pretty sure everyone in our family Will call him out

02:21:30 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 2:

Is there a way we can try to Talk to Cassie Cassie though I worry about her Hearing this now Why don't we see what we can do Lydia with that Hang on one second Miranda

02:21:44 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 3:

Ha ha busted again

02:21:48 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

It's your home for

02:21:53 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 3:

War of the Roses Mojo in the Morning join the discussion now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 this is mojo in the morning

02:22:06 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 2:

all right mojo in the morning war of the roses so war of the roses just to be full disclosure we have to get permission for play to be able to put stuff on the radio so the war of the roses although some might have thought that it's live it's not we have to tape them and we have to get permission and it's a just a big craziness well this one is one of those ones where you require to be able to give a little bit of a background on what's going on including the fact that here's a situation where you got a family getting involved in a relationship and a cheating situation. And so it's not the actual person that wants to do it. It's the sister that thinks that her brother's cheating on his girlfriend. And then she finds out that this is the case because she's noticing him with another girl. And she's showing her loyalty now to this girlfriend more so than over her brother.

02:23:06 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

She's become her best friend, really.

02:23:08 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

And we want to kind of get an update on what this has done to their family, to Miranda's family and her relationship with her brother. But also, I want to talk about this hypothetically with all of us, including you, the listeners. Would you ever do something like this? Like, if you found out that your sister, brother, whoever, was cheating, would you tell the other person? Or would you keep it to yourself and keep it quiet? Who's your loyalty to, or is there ever loyalty in this case? I've often wondered this, you know, and especially with this Miranda one, like, you know, that there are some people that confide in their brother or sister, you know, and they'll say, hey, we're struggling. I'm not happy. I'm going out, blah, blah, blah, you know, a whole deal. And it's funny because I love my in-laws, you know, I love my sister-in-laws. I love my brother-in-law. I be honest with you think that I would always side with my family I think blood is definitely

02:24:14 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 1:

thicker than uh than water in this case I do but there's also a varying degree of like everybody has a different relationship with their siblings and um I feel like and I I can see where like my best girlfriends are my best girlfriends and I've told my girlfriend stuff that I haven't told my own family members so I can see where Miranda is really you know upset that this is like this is somebody that she has grown very very close to and maybe she isn't as close to her brother you know as some brothers and sister are so I just very much feel like it depends on your relationship that you have with that particular

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 3:

sibling uh kevin you right away just said you know if your sister was cheating on her man you

02:25:07 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 4:

would keep that between the two of you guys it's nothing more important than the code and as a family member there's a code that's established you don't go against the grain it was us before

02:25:18 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 2:

it was y'all what if melinda was dating like your best buddy in the whole world and i know jg is in

02:25:23 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 4:

relationship but isn't he even then yeah no i mean it never it never i mean none of my best friends would ever date my sister well that's code number one no i know i know i'm just and then i'd be damned that they would disrespect her in that way wow that's an interesting one

02:25:41 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 2:

you know what i'm saying what if she was cheating on that person is what i know but to your point

02:25:46 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 4:

it's all situational based on how you are with that individual yeah and i have the relationship with my sister where I would go talk to her, sit her down, and say, you need to stop.

02:25:58 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 3:

And, yeah, and I'll tell you this, that...

02:26:02 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 2:

Which it sounds like she did, by the way.

02:26:05 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 3:

No, it didn't. I don't think Miranda did that.

02:26:07 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 2:

No, but I'm saying she did confront him.

02:26:12 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but I don't think she did enough.

02:26:14 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 2:

So she went to him first.

02:26:15 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 3:

Before she came to us.

02:26:16 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 2:

Before going to us. I don't believe her.

02:26:19 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask, Miranda, I just want to see how Cassie is doing, how Michael's girlfriend is doing. How's everything going here with what happened?

02:26:31 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 5:

She's struggling.

02:26:34 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 3:

Are they still together?

02:26:37 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 5:

No, definitely not.

02:26:39 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 3:

How about your brother? Is your brother talking to you?

02:26:43 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 2:

He hasn't spoken to me since. Wow. What about your mom and dad? my parents are on my side with this one so they're still they're upset with him they

02:26:56 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 4:

have incited with their boy he messed up do you regret doing it at all

02:27:03 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

no you don't regret it all not having a relationship with your brother not after what he did wow um let me take some of these calls uh fred your thoughts on what

02:27:19 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 5:

miranda did so she's wrong for that like yeah honestly like i went through that and the thing was i wasn't even cheating but my brother and my sister was basically trying to tell my kid mother to break up with instead of coming to me talking to me about the situation they just automatically told her to break up with and i ain't like that uh why did they think that you were cheating no they basically see my kids mom was kind of feeling unhappy at the moment oh so

02:27:54 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 3:

so it was not about cheating it was just she was unhappy and she confided in them okay so why That's weird that your wife was going to them and they were counseling her through this whole thing and they were siding with her on this. Why were you so bad that she wanted out of this relationship?

02:28:12 - 02:28:25 | Speaker 5:

You know, every relationship has their little hiccups. So instead of they don't want to come to me like, hey, bro, you know, they just like, hey, just break up with her. And to this day, they still side with her.

02:28:25 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. How's your relationship with them? Did it change during this point?

02:28:30 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 5:

Kev, you already know how it went. Me and them do not talk. Me and my kids' mom is no longer together. Like I said, they still in hoops with her.

02:28:41 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 3:

Did they say they're doing it for the good of their niece and nephew or whatever your kids are?

02:28:47 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 5:

That's what they claim, but at the same time, you don't have to talk to their mom every day.

02:28:51 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 3:

But do you think they truly did care about your children?

02:28:58 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:29:01 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 3:

Is that us coming back at us, or are you listening to the TV loud or something? What is that?

02:29:05 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that must be the TV.

02:29:08 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. What do you got on the TV? Because I'm thinking to myself, that doesn't sound like us. What do you got, Law & Order on or something? What do you got?

02:29:14 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Do you really? Oh, the history channel.

02:29:18 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right. That is respectful.

02:29:25 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you, Fred. I appreciate you calling, man. I appreciate you. Initial A, what's up? Where are the roses? Hi.

02:29:33 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:29:34 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 3:

Your voice is guys.

02:29:35 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 1:

So, definitely, because I'm currently going through this exact same thing. So, I just found out that my brother is cheating on my sister-in-law. So, it's the same situation, but I haven't told anyone.

02:29:52 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to?

02:29:52 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 1:

So listening to this makes me kind of conflicted. just had a baby i'm really really close to her they've been together since high school um i knew her in high school um but i'm really close to my brother as well what do you think kevin does she

02:30:13 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 3:

have to follow the code that you were talking about well how do you know for a fact and how

02:30:17 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 1:

did you find out so i do know for a fact we kind of me and my mom were really close to my brother It's me, my mom, and my brother. Just us. So we concentrated thinking it because of little things he would say when he was drunk and hanging out with us. And then two weekends ago, we went out, and we went to a party, and a girl met him up there. My sister-in-law wasn't with us, of course.

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:30:45 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 1:

So he kind of kept trying to, like, move to the back and, you know, move away from us, of course. But I was being nosy, and I seen them hugged up and kissed in the back of the party. Right in front of you.

02:30:57 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was like, what do you think she should do? I think she should talk. Did you already say you talked to him?

02:31:03 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 1:

So, at the end of the party, of course, we're all drunk and everything, but I didn't think that was a good time. But I did mention to him, like, what's going on? I see you in the back, and he's like, sis, don't worry about it. But, see, the issue is my mom saw it as well. And my mom, she's cool, but she wants to tell my sister-in-law. And it's such a different situation when it's a baby involved because she feels like she controls. My sister-in-law controls if we see the baby or not.

02:31:36 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 3:

I agree. And by the way, let your mom be the one to tell.

02:31:39 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 4:

I was about to say, yeah. I would take my brother out, sit him down, put it to him real. Like, we all know what's going on. Eventually, it's going to come out. either you get in front of it or you'll be behind the eight ball and it's all going to fall down because mama's going to. That's a really great way of saying it, Kev.

02:31:55 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 3:

When you say get in front of it, like end.

02:31:57 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 4:

Like be a man, either end it or tell your girl what's going on.

02:32:00 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you think if he ends it and doesn't go to see these girls anymore, will you keep that secret to your grave?

02:32:11 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Initially, I agree with Kevin. I feel like I have to choose my brother. I love my brother, but it's so hard. I love my sister-in-law, and I don't want her to take my niece away. If something happens and she finds out I knew. Yeah. Right.

02:32:28 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

God, and you're right, by the way. That's a sticky one. She does control the children, so you have a lot of thinking to do, and I think this is one of those ones where you call for a family meeting. I think it's time. Family meeting. If you want, we can be part of it. We can do it at 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock. When can we schedule the family meeting? Would that not be amazing radio? Huh? What do you think? But you have to un-voice disguise yourself.

02:32:55 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 1:

As long as I can be voice disguise.

02:32:58 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 3:

That's right. It's not going to happen. All right. War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning show.

02:33:04 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the dirty of the dirty. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:33:13 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're going to give you a new car. Get ready for a little spring fun with find the fob to win this thing. I almost said find your fob. That is pretty much every day for me. I always lose the damn thing. It's Mojo in the Morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Want to win a brand new Chevy from Moran Chevrolet? We got a chance for you right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Find the FOB The entire lot at the dealership is going to have all their cars lined up Not even the members of this radio show except for Lydia who's the only one that has been told I tried. What car we're giving away

02:34:03 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 4:

I tried so hard to get her to tell me

02:34:04 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm excited for this because it could be anything and I could honestly tell you this i think it really truly could be anything like it could be any one of their cars uh that are on that lot and all the listeners like yourself that qualifies right now are going to be there you'll get to pick which car you think it is and then one by one until somebody has won

02:34:26 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 4:

that vehicle we're going to be doing it do you think that you would go for the car you want first or you would go for a different car i would go for the car i wanted see i would go for the car

02:34:37 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 3:

that I think they're giving away. Yeah. And I try to, and honestly, that strategy never works for me. I always try to play the strategy of what I think the odds are and the odds never play on that one. I should go with my gut.

02:34:49 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, I said I would go with my gut, but I think my gut would lead me to the car I wanted.

02:34:53 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right. Which one would you go for then? If you're going to go for a car. Yeah. What kind of, what car do you like?

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 2:

Either the Tahoe or the Suburban.

02:35:02 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so you want something big? You want a big vehicle?

02:35:03 - 02:35:04 | Speaker 3:

I would go for the Corvette.

02:35:05 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. To me, I don't know. I know that we have given away a lot of cars, but I think Joe drives a Blazer right now. I drive a Tahoe, so we're a big Chevy family and love it. I'd probably do the Kevin thing. I'd do the unrealistic and, you know.

02:35:24 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 3:

Shoot for the stars.

02:35:25 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 2:

But nothing's unrealistic with Brian Moran.

02:35:27 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:35:28 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sure. Like, even when we had meetings about this contest, he was throwing out stuff, and I was like, are you there?

02:35:36 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 4:

The unrealistic part that I'm talking about is me trying to fit into a quarterback. That would be unrealistic. The new you.

02:35:43 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:35:46 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to get a look at the last dirty of the morning. What's going on, Shannon?

02:35:49 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 2:

Last night, Luka Doncic scored his 45th point of the game and has returned to Dallas since being traded. We've got that moment for you right here.

02:35:58 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 4:

And now the Lakers are up 105-94. To not get complacent, and that guy won't shake his head. Not tonight, Dallas.

02:36:07 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 2:

Got a standing ovation at one point in the game yesterday.

02:36:12 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they gave a little bit of both, you know, happy and angry. But, you know, it's nice to see some familiar faces here. You know, I spent a lot of time with them. But like you said, you know, it was a lot of emotions when I woke up. I was tired. I didn't sleep much. His English is good. I thought about this game, and, you know, I really appreciate the offense.

02:36:35 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 4:

No, I always thought that he had kind of broke a little bit more broken English.

02:36:39 - 02:36:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, like, to the point you made earlier about him coming here as a kid and joining the Mavericks, that happened when he was 18 years old. That was, like, seven, eight years ago.

02:36:46 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 4:

What they did for him, I thought, was excellent. They did a tribute to him right before they announced him as they were doing the starting lineups, and they waited to have him be the last of, you know, the players to be announced. And he was sobbing. He was really tearful. And the wildest part was the whole game. ESPN kept showing that general manager that traded him away. And this trade has not worked out to the Dallas Mavericks' favor at all. So the guy kind of has gotten – they say that he doesn't even live in Dallas right now. I've heard the rumor that he's not even there. He travels back and forth with the team going to games, but he can't even stay in his house because there's still issues where the fans are still so pissed off at him.

02:37:26 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 3:

They were chanting, fire, Nico, at the end of the game. You can hear it over the broadcast. It's crazy.

02:37:31 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 4:

Who do you think for, like, Detroit sports fans? Like, when we traded Verlander, a lot of people anticipated that he was going to get traded.

02:37:40 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I think Jared Goff can go nowhere right now.

02:37:42 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 4:

You think so? See, I think, but I'm talking like legend. Oh, no. I think that. Oh, I think you're talking about right now. Well, no, but I think in general, I think that Jared Goff could go somewhere if we got something good in return. If we were able to trade him and go get another quarterback that was great, I think people would be like, oh, great, younger and stuff like that. Isn't he great? He's very good.

02:38:02 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

If we trade him for Justin Herbert. I don't even know who that is.

02:38:05 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

He's the guy from the Chargers. But I think that there's something in this town. You couldn't trade Barry Sanders back in the day. Or the Pistons could not trade. Like even, yeah, those guys.

02:38:20 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning.

02:38:21 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 4:

That's right. Although a warmer city, a warmer, we wouldn't wake up on April the 10th with snow.

02:38:27 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 2:

I am not joking you. I texted Lydia this morning. Let's move to Tampa. Let's go.

02:38:32 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 4:

We'll trade with the Joe show. We'll switch with them.

02:38:34 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

Justin Bieber are going after the paparazzi. He's in Palm Springs right now ahead of Coachella with Haley and went to get a coffee with some buddies. The paparazzi had their phones, cameras in his faces. He was just done.

02:38:45 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 3:

I like this song

02:39:07 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 2:

We were playing it yesterday

02:39:08 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 4:

We turned it up in the car Oh the station was playing it Oh good

02:39:12 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Good music. Another day, another Kanye story. He was ranting on X late last night. Just some really strange, nothing that I saw was anti-Semitic, really. It was just like, yeah, talking about Taylor Swift and how Justin Bieber and Harry Styles did her and didn't call him uh talking about himself baking cookies with taylor swift how he hasn't he's mad he hadn't done that yet talking about beyonce and jay-z's sex life ray j and kim k and superstar part two like just all over

02:40:00 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 3:

Is there anybody that can get Kanye better, like, so they can be, like, a good artist again, like, where people will like him and stuff? Like, is there anybody that's, like, a mentor to him?

02:40:12 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 1:

I think the only person who could have done this is, unfortunately, no longer with us, which could have been a catalyst for a lot of this stuff.

02:40:18 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:40:19 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 1:

His mother, Donna. Yeah.

02:40:20 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. He also, he, at one point, was ranting about why he has never headlined a Super Bowl halftime show. Facts. Three moments. George Bush doesn't care about black people. the Taylor Swift movement moment, and wearing a MAGA hat.

02:40:33 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 1:

See, but that's the thing. Kanye is a gift and a curse. And I think sometimes people are emboldened when we support them for saying things that we agree with, and then we try to chastise them and cancel them when they say things that we don't agree with. Kanye's been outspoken. It's just now he's saying stuff that people don't agree with.

02:40:49 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 3:

But when he goes over the edge, though, Kev, with the Nazi stuff.

02:40:52 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 1:

And the KKK stuff.

02:40:53 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying.

02:40:54 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 1:

And sexual assault comments. What I'm saying is the foundation of Kanye being outspoken and saying things that he feels has always been there. When he stood up on national TV and said George Bush doesn't like black people, there were some people that didn't like that and a lot of people that championed it. When he did the Taylor Swift thing, some people didn't like it. A lot of people championed it. He's been the same person. It's just now he's saying stuff that not a lot of people agree with, and that's the reason why people are trying to cancel him. This is him.

02:41:19 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Travis Kelsey on the New Heights podcast this week, clarifying a really random rumor that was going around about a charity that he was making a big like three and a half million dollar donation to in Kansas City.

02:41:37 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 2:

Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not. And I'm not even going to talk about it specifically. I don't want to bring any more attention to that whole nonsense.

02:41:48 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 4:

So I'll talk specifically about it. I don't understand why or how this happened, but there's a charity in Kansas City called Foster Love. And they announced that Travis Kelsey had given them a $3.3 million donation on social media. And they thanked him for offering like housing and mentorship and resources to kids. And then he was like, but I didn't do that. And he's like, if you ever want to know exactly what I'm doing in the community, he has an organization called 87 in Run. Why would they lie about that? That's what I, and like publicly, I don't get it, but yeah.

02:42:23 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 3:

You know what is interesting? I was looking at the Daily Mail today, and they have a Nostradamus-like psychic, one that predicts the future and has been right on everything, and she predicts that the end of Travis and Taylor is 2025.

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

I won't believe that.

02:42:42 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 3:

Says it's happening. Hey, I'm just saying, they haven't gotten married yet. Go ahead.

02:44:54 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 4:

Are you talking about Wes? Yeah. Where has he been?

02:44:56 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Where is it? Where is it? Where did Wes go?

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if other.

02:45:00 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 1:

if other people in relationships are like this, but Wes left for a business trip on Monday. I had to think for a second.

02:45:07 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 3:

He's been gone the whole week, huh?

02:45:08 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 1:

He's been gone the whole week. Yep. And he's coming back late, late tonight. He's supposed to come back late tonight. And I knew what state he was going to. He's in California. And I knew that he was going to be taking part in some sort of like conference, automotive related, because he works in the automotive engineering space. And he was going to be playing golf. But my girlfriend, Lindsay, was like, where is he? And I said, oh, he's in California. And she's like, no, like, where? California's my favorite state. Where? And I thought, I don't even know. I don't know.

02:45:41 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 3:

You don't know what state, or you don't know what part of the state he is in?

02:45:43 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I knew California. California, too. I bet he told me, or maybe I didn't ask. I don't know. But I truly did not know where specifically he was and what he was doing other than, like, golfing. I knew who he was going with from work.

02:46:01 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Do you all track each other on, like, the iPhone?

02:46:03 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 1:

So that was what I had to do. I'm like, I feel like the worst wife in the world. And then it just comes up automatically when I, like, if I text him, see, it's right there. So it says Huntington Beach. So I knew that's where. I'm like, I had to look at his location to tell you exactly where he was.

02:46:21 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 3:

Does he send you, like, his travel Delta flight stuff? Like, does he do that?

02:46:25 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 1:

If he, he, sometimes he will, he will, but I didn't ask this time. I don't know.

02:46:34 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 3:

That doesn't seem like a very thoughtful wife. What happens if there's an earthquake in the city of California?

02:46:44 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 1:

I would hope that he would mark himself safe on Facebook. No, I don't know. He would call me.

02:46:49 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 3:

No, but would you, no, I know, but would you know what part of, like if it said there's a, there's modesto california has an earthquake would you go i would text him and say hey are you near modesto you it's really you wouldn't be like for like i would instantly start freaking out if it's the whole state that's like the biggest state in the in the country i do feel

02:47:09 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 1:

kind of bad because and you used to make fun of us incessantly for this and this was way more him than me but when we first started dating when one of us would go out of town we would send stuff to

02:47:19 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 3:

the hotel room remember this and you just how boy you're really you can but you can tell your relationship by the way is comfortable though you're so comfortable you don't even know where

02:47:28 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 1:

the hell he is about that when my friend asked me where exactly is he and i had to look at his location you know what i don't even know what hotel he's in i didn't send him anything that's

02:47:37 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 3:

actually a good thing though i'm going to tell you this because the couples that are like way overly affectionate where they do things like you guys did in the beginning or the couples that don't trust each other that's when they start getting all crazy like i'm tracking him i want to know where he's at you know that's good that's good you guys are in a good place then california is also one of those states where you say i'm just going to california you're going to

02:48:01 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 1:

i see palm trees when he facetimes me if you're going to huntington beach you probably would say i'm going to la right isn't that the closest city i knew he was flying into la right yeah like you

02:48:14 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 3:

would never probably uh you'd probably not say you know hey i'm going to huntington beach which is in the you know such and such county or whatever the home of tito which is funny so now i clicked into his location and i can tell he's running uh wow this early in the morning weird

02:48:33 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 2:

what's going on courtney hi my husband travels a lot for work and i never never pay attention to where he is he always sends me his travel like his hotel information but i never i never pay attention and sometimes i don't even realize where he is until i check his location and i see what

02:48:51 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 3:

state he's in has it wait you don't even know the state he's in like that like we're thinking shannon's not me not being very good by not knowing what city he's in you don't even know

02:49:00 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 2:

what state he is in no i mean he tells me but i we have three kids two dogs it's hard to keep up so So it's on a need-to-know basis. So as long as he gets home safe, it's good.

02:49:12 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. Like, has it ever come to bite you in the ass, though? Like, where, you know, he...

02:49:18 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:49:18 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 3:

Really? No.

02:49:19 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, no, we've been together for so long, and this is the only job he's had since we've been together. And it's always, I mean, it's so common. And, like, his area where he's at, it's just, it's not even... That's weird.

02:49:35 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 3:

How much travel is Wes going to have to do for work? Are you going to turn into Courtney here where you're just not caring anymore? What's going on?

02:49:41 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I did just send him a text, though, and said, you are awake, and you didn't even say good morning.

02:49:47 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hold on. You're one of those now.

02:50:00 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 4:

Lina, what's up, Lina? Hi.

02:50:06 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 1:

Hi, you guys. Good morning. Good morning.

02:50:09 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:50:10 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 1:

So I was calling because my husband used to work on oil rigs, and he would go to, like, different countries, and I wouldn't know, like, what city he was in.

02:50:22 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Like, oil rigs, like, we're talking, I've seen those in Louisiana, like, you know, on the coast and stuff. They have to live on those things, don't they? They don't, like, do they sleep in those oil rigs and stuff?

02:50:36 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so they have ships, and so it's kind of like they have, like, quarters at the bottom, kind of like how cool lines are. And so, yeah, he would go and work for, like, he would work, like, four weeks on, three weeks off.

02:50:51 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 4:

See, that, I could not be in a relationship with somebody like that. or miners, the people that go in coal mines and stuff like that. Or strippers. Those are like the top three. Or could you imagine being married to somebody that is an undercover agent or police officer and they won't tell you where they're going or what they do because they can't give up their... That would be hard to do.

02:51:18 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 3:

You would think they was cheating on you.

02:51:20 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 2:

I went to school with somebody who married a guy that does that And she never knows where he is, ever.

02:51:27 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 4:

But you would also, honestly, even aside from the cheating part, would definitely be probably one of the things. But you would be worried any time that there was a story about a shooting or an officer-involved situation. Like, that would freak me out all the time.

02:51:40 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 3:

I'd be freaked out if I was dating a flight attendant. You know, so many planes falling, you know what I mean? Like, you hear all these stories.

02:51:47 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 4:

Well, there's definitely risk, right? Or how about somebody that works, you know, in a hospital or something like that? There's craziness that happens at hospitals we saw a couple weeks ago. All right. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate you. I'm going to date a librarian, you know? Nothing happens at the library. Do they have librarians still?

02:52:09 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Do they have libraries still? Yes. They're probably AI. I'm at the library every week. Oh, okay.

02:52:14 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing there?

02:52:14 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Checking out books.

02:52:16 - 02:52:17 | Unknown:

All right.

02:52:17 - 02:52:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't believe you. Do-gooder. nefarious activities

02:52:19 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 2:

currently on a way list for a book I really would like

02:52:23 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 4:

what nefarious can you do at the library talk too loud

02:52:27 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 3:

selling DNA or something

02:52:29 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 4:

oh okay WKQI Detroit

02:52:32 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 3:

WSX WVKS Toledo three great stations one stupid show this is Mojo in the Morning live oh

02:52:47 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, it's Mojo in the morning. So how much does lunch really cost? Kev got some issues here, taking some ladies out to lunch or splitting lunch.

02:53:03 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 3:

No, so I reached out to a friend of mine. She is a lady. And I wanted to do something nice, wanted to send her some lunch. I'm like, how much would lunch cost? She was like $30. What do you mean? Stop for one second. You're sending her lunch.

02:53:17 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 4:

Sending her lunch money. Like, sending her money to go get lunch.

02:53:20 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 3:

What?

02:53:20 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 4:

So you're not actually enjoying lunch with her? No. You're just going, you're just, you're like, this is something nice that you do? You just go and say, hey, let me buy you lunch?

02:53:29 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Is that, like, a crazy thing to do? Y'all never heard of that?

02:53:33 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:53:33 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 2:

No, that's very nice. It's very nice.

02:53:35 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 4:

Somebody send me money to get lunch? But that's weird, though, like, that you would, usually it'd be like, hey, can I take you to lunch? You're actually buying them lunch and just sending, or sending them money for, they can buy lunch. Do you send people money for coffee? No, I usually will buy coffee for somebody. Like I'll say, hey, can I buy you a coffee and go get it for them or something.

02:53:53 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we don't always have the time to link up and do these things. Okay.

02:53:57 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 4:

But at any rate, this is what dating has turned into these days.

02:53:59 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 3:

Again, this isn't a dating thing. Just a friendship. Just a friend of mine. A female friend. Just send somebody some lunch money, bro. Very nice. I'll grab some food real quick. Have a good day. Something you don't have to worry about. How can you never send me lunch? You eat enough.

02:54:09 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 2:

I do that to Zach sometimes, actually. You do? Yeah. Yeah, if I know he's out having, like, drinks, I'll send him money to get, like, a round of drinks. See? Wow.

02:54:19 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 4:

So, I asked. Again, she never does it for me, but that's all right. I guess I can find it for myself. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Finish your story.

02:54:26 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 3:

So, she said $30. $30 for lunch? That's when I used to send people. You said their what? I said, where is she eating for $30? My point exactly. I thought lunch was, like, $15, $10, go grab a quick sandwich. Yeah. Apparently, that's not the case. said $30. So then I reached out to somebody else. I'm like, how much does lunch cost these days? And she said $50. She said $50 if you're interested in the girl. Like if it's somebody you're trying to court, if it's somebody you're trying to date. She agreed $30 for lunch. So she was on par with my best friend who said that.

02:55:00 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 2:

She said $20 is just for cushion. Oh, my God.

02:55:03 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 1:

$30, I guess, if she was going to somewhere, if she was going someplace that had drinks. Maybe she was getting, like, a drink and a lunch.

02:55:11 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 2:

She was like, I don't know if she said Chick-fil-A or something. She said, if I want to get a salad, and then I want to get a bag of chips, and maybe I want to get a smoothie also. She was like, we up $25, $26 at that point. Dude, you got some high-maintenance ladies in your life. I'm saying, depending on where you go, like, where would you go for, like, Chick-fil-A?

02:55:31 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 3:

I would, if I'm sending them lunch, I better be eating it with them. I think, honestly, this is interesting. That's $30.

02:55:39 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that crazy? I've never... You know, I'm just seeing. I'm thinking about it.

02:55:42 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 3:

Wait, aside from that, let's go back real quick.

02:55:45 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 1:

What?

02:55:46 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 3:

When you were dating or you were friends with, just randomly friends, you had guys that would go, hey, let me send you money for lunch. That sounds like a sugar daddy type thing.

02:55:56 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 1:

I never did.

02:55:56 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 3:

I've never heard of something like this before.

02:55:57 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I never did. I'm saying that's very nice that Kev does that. Yeah.

02:56:01 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 3:

It's nice, or is this guy a sucker? What is he doing?

02:56:04 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:56:06 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 3:

Why are you buying?

02:56:06 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 1:

You should buy lunch from Melinda or your mom. I would think you were interested in me as more than just a friend if you did that to me. Although, Zach, I'm not interested in you as more than a friend. I love you so much.

02:56:19 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 3:

I get why you're doing it for Zach, because he's cute. He's lovable. He's like my little brother. Little brother to you.

02:56:25 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:56:25 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 2:

But so, you know, so you don't see you got a lot of girlfriends. Yes. Right. You never send them money for anything, lunch or drink or.

02:56:33 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 1:

No, I drop stuff off at houses a lot.

02:56:36 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 2:

All right. There you go. This is this is basically the same thing. Yeah. I'm just not dropping it off at the house. This is somebody I talk to a lot. This is a good friend on the phone. What you getting for lunch today? I got you. How much you want for lunch? Wow.

02:56:47 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 1:

It's that easy. I am expecting a Venmo from you.

02:56:50 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 3:

I need friends like that. What's up, Adriana? Hi.

02:56:53 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning.

02:56:55 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 3:

How are you? What's going on?

02:56:57 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. I'm on my way to my allergy appointment. But, like, about the lunch thing, think about it. Like, you're not going to ask her what she's about to go eat. I mean, unless you did. But she could be getting a little appetizer. She doesn't want to, like, pinch to get what she wants to eat.

02:57:11 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 3:

She's an eater. She's an eater.

02:57:13 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 5:

Like, $50, I'd be like, dang, okay.

02:57:15 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 3:

She gets an appetizer, she gets the meal, and she gets dessert afterwards, too.

02:57:19 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 2:

If she's an eater, that's a whole different conversation.

02:57:21 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Hey, when you think lunch, you think Chipotle, you don't think she's going to, like, you know, I don't know, I'm trying to think of somewhere around here where you're going to get a spread.

02:57:34 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're not sitting down by yourself at a full-on restaurant.

02:57:37 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 2:

But to her point, you want to make sure that they're covered regardless of where they go. You want to cover lunch. You don't want to just add to the bill.

02:57:46 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 3:

Tia, what did you want to say to Kevin?

02:57:48 - 02:57:55 | Speaker 6:

Why can't I find a type of friend like Kevin and said, I'm always the friend like that? See, so you get it.

02:57:55 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 3:

Because you know what? I didn't realize that Kevin was this kind of a friend. Now I'm going to start being nice to him.

02:58:02 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, warm up more.

02:58:03 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 3:

I like the texture that says here, does Kev ever buy lunch for Lydia? That's a good question, huh? Have you ever bought lunch? I don't think I ever bought Lydia lunch. Lydia's? Nope. He's never done that?

02:58:15 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 5:

No, and I've DoorDash'd to his house before. I got you. Oh, that's right. When he was sick. I got you. I'd rather cook you lunch, Lydia,

02:58:20 - 02:58:30 | Speaker 3:

than buy you lunch. Okay. Tomorrow. Alex, what's up? God, this is uncomfortable. I'm telling you, I'm the dad that doesn't like my kids dating. What's going on, Alex?

02:58:31 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 7:

What's going on? So I was just calling to say that I have had friends of mine that are probably interested in me, send me money, say, Oh, here's $30. Go get some lunch today. And it, it's been

02:58:44 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 3:

around 30 bucks or more and it's usually they're interested in you so don't you think that kev's got yeah kev's got to be interested in these girls that he's sending them that how's it more than one when did he start when did we i think but no honestly doesn't it sound like kevin's got like something going on with these girls that he's sending them the well for sure for sure yeah

02:59:06 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 7:

you don't just send someone money unless you're kind of interested yeah that just seems to me

02:59:12 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 3:

like straight up early prostitution. You know what I mean?

02:59:18 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't go that far.

02:59:19 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 3:

No, I think it's prostitution. I think we should look at this. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Kat? How you doing, Kat? Very good morning. How are you guys? We're great, Kat. What's going on? You got some energy. I love you.

02:59:33 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I know. I'm just getting into my coffee right now. I just want to tell Kev I'm hungry right now.

02:59:38 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 2:

What's your cash in? Come on. Give it to Lydia.

02:59:41 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 4:

There we go. We need more friends like us in the world.

02:59:51 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that amazing, Kat? In all of my years on this planet, I have never in my life thought of doing this to a girl that I wasn't in.

03:00:00 - 03:00:06 | Speaker 5:

a relationship already with or had anybody ask me what I want for lunch randomly. I feel bad

03:00:06 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 2:

for you. You know, I was recently in a hospital for sepsis and one of my good friends I've worked with on and off over the past 20 years actually brought me fresh rolls from a Vietnamese spot that I loved and he was the only person to even say hi to me in the 10 days I was there.

03:00:20 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm sorry. We need to have Kevin befriend you, Kat, and help you out here, okay?

03:00:26 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 2:

Most definitely. You guys have

03:00:28 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 5:

a good day. He's a sweetheart. ladies if you've never met kevin look what he does for people look at you uh d what's up it's

03:01:31 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 5:

What did you do yesterday?

03:01:32 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 3:

We were launching a new business down here, so we just beat all of our metrics. We were extremely happy.

03:01:37 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

03:01:39 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 3:

What kind of work are we doing? I actually also work in automotive.

03:01:44 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Well, congratulations to you, Dee. Take care. Be safe flying back.

03:01:48 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Oh, yeah.

03:01:50 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 5:

Brandon says, Brandon, what do you want to say about what was just said?

03:01:56 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. I was going to tell Kevin to talk to you about saying she's an eater. That's wild. It's a real breakdown.

03:02:09 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 5:

You guys got to get your heads out of the gutter, guys. Okay? She's an eater. All right. All right. We'll talk to you later. By the way, I went out to lunch with Angel yesterday for a client thing. we went to went and got sushi uh for this she does not eat and it drives me crazy i cannot stand going to sushi with people like angel and megan because i want to just keep eating roll after roll after roll and again she blamed that i was talking to her i'm like well you don't have to always answer right away you know what i mean like eat it's crazy you feel like you're eating like a maniac because I'm just eating nonstop like roll after roll and I'm going she didn't ever eat. That's so funny

03:02:55 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 6:

I went out to lunch with her last week and she got stuff to take home and I had eaten all mine

03:03:00 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 4:

03:03:20 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Top Trending Stories. All right. Top Trending Stories. You want to see, like, the cutest video ever? Like, honestly, one of the cutest things you'll probably ever see? Go check out the video from yesterday at the Masters. Ah, the Masters. Go check out the video of Rory McIlroy's daughter, Poppy McIlroy. McElroy. What a name. Poppy McElroy was playing. It was family day yesterday at the Masters at Augusta, Georgia. And she made a humongous putt. It was like, I don't know how long it was. It was long. And it was like a downhill putt where she tapped the ball and it rolled all the way in for what dad was so proud of. And he said it was one of his proudest moments literally on that course as his little daughter did that. But it's a really cute video. If you're having a bad day, all of a sudden watch that video and you'll love it.

03:04:20 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 6:

Wait, can I tell you another one to search for? Search for the little boy who is Dolly Parton's biggest fan.

03:04:25 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God. Hold on. Let me play that video.

03:04:27 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 6:

You sent it to me. This little boy Where was that at? Was that Dollywood?

03:04:33 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 5:

I think it was somewhere

03:04:35 - 03:04:43 | Speaker 6:

like that. Anyway, Dolly Parton is riding in a parade. And there's this little boy. He's maybe 10 years old. He waves at him.

03:04:44 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 5:

He sees her coming and he sees the excitement. That's him screaming, oh, my God. All right, here she comes, pulling out.

03:05:00 - 03:05:43 | Speaker 2:

and he noticed that's what megan would be like or you would be like if you saw dolly oh my god oh my god shut up kid you're giving me a headache there oh and then there's another video to go search for Search for the video from the Chicago Cubs baseball game yesterday where a couple was behind home plate doing the Lady and the Tramp. Remember the spaghetti scene? But they were doing it with a hot dog at the game. Hold on.

03:05:43 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 5:

They knew they were on TV. And come over here. Kind of go Lady and the Tramp on the hot dog. Yeah, that's right. And then they find out that everybody's seen them on TV. It was very sexual. They were blowing up.

03:05:58 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 2:

Look at that. They literally were both going at it with a hot dog. So that was great. So those are all great videos. You can't beat them. Two beautiful kid moments and one a couple that should go get a hotel room. All right. Top training stories. You talked about it earlier this morning in The Dirty, but I got the news piece from Good Morning America this morning about the confirmation that the Obamas are not getting a divorce. There's been the rumors that they have been not having great times in their marriage. And then the former first lady has her podcast with her brother, has said some things about the president, the former president, that made it seem like those guys were not getting along.

03:06:43 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Michelle Obama is putting to bed rumors that she and the former president are divorcing.

03:06:48 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 4:

Now is the time for me to start asking myself these hard questions of who do I truly want to be every day?

03:06:57 - 03:07:13 | Speaker 3:

Speaking on actress Sophia Bush's podcast, Mrs. Obama, now 61, spoke about her newfound independence. The speculation about her marriage grew in January when former President Obama showed up solo to President Trump's inauguration and to Jimmy Carter's funeral.

03:07:13 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 4:

We start actually finally going, what am I doing? you know who am i doing this for um and if it doesn't fit into the sort of stereotype of what people think we should do then it gets labeled as something negative and horrible

03:07:31 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 3:

she was in hawaii on vacation during carter's funeral and she says she chose not to attend the trump inauguration she says not being tied to political life and with her daughters now grown

03:07:42 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 4:

she has more time for herself they couldn't even fathom that i was making a choice for myself that they had to assume that my husband and i are divorcing you know that this couldn't be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself she recently started a podcast with her

03:08:02 - 03:08:14 | Speaker 3:

brother and continues to work with her production company as for their 32-year marriage former President Obama acknowledges their need for fun. I was in a deep deficit with my wife,

03:08:15 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 1:

so I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things.

03:08:24 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Mrs. Obama does admit to arguing with the former president about what to watch on TV. She prefers home renovation shows. He chooses golf. There you go.

03:08:34 - 03:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so they're still together. You know, I've never witnessed a sitting or former president ever get divorced. I've never seen that before. It ain't going to be the Obamas. Only in movies. It was, remember, there was like the Michael Douglas when he was the president movie.

03:08:50 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 1:

I love that movie. Or his wife died, maybe. Annette Banging. Yeah, that was a good one. Oh, my God. Wasn't it called the American President?

03:08:56 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

The American President. Speaking of the president, did you see yesterday Big Gretch hanging out in the Oval Office with trump that was a big one a lot of people were like what is going on here but um michigan governor gretchen whitmer and republican house speaker matt hall were among the guests that were hanging out with trump when he does his media stuff like in the afternoon he takes all those questions from the press there were two things that trump is i guess going to help michigan with number one is keeping selfridge air base open which is a big deal they say oh many people say it would literally crush the economy in macomb county if selfridge were to close and also they believe that it would be not good for security too with us being so close to the the canadian border and then the other one that's even bigger is these fish that are in lake michigan these asian carp that are taking over lake michigan a lot of people are saying these asian carp are killing the sea life and a lot of fishermen are upset about it and so So...

03:10:00 - 03:10:05 | Speaker 5:

Big Gretch and Big Matt, or whoever this guy is, we're all hanging out.

03:10:05 - 03:10:20 | Speaker 1:

You know how important recreational fishing and so much of that is to our state. Because of your work, we're hopeful that we'll get a solution there and we'll get that barrier built so we can protect our Great Lakes. So thank you, Mr. President.

03:10:21 - 03:10:34 | Speaker 2:

And they're very powerful fish. I mean, I assume they jump out of the water, they jump at the fishermen. I mean, I've never seen anything like it. And has this gotten into any of the other lakes yet? Because you would think it would be pretty easy because they're all sort of connected.

03:10:34 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 7:

Governor? That's why we're working so hard to make sure that we work with the Army Corps and erect a barrier so that the Asian car can't get into Lake Michigan. It'll devastate the ecosystem, the economy, tourism. And it's 20% of the world's fresh waters in the Great Lakes, Mr. President, which is why it's so important that as a nation, we protect the rivers in waters. Yep.

03:10:57 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 2:

And, you know, all of a sudden, I assume the lakes, they're all...

03:11:01 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 5:

By the way, a friend of mine, a fisherman friend of mine, Tom, was telling me that the state is talking about raising the price of getting a fishing license. And he's very upset. He said, can you please bring this up on your show? I'm bringing it up right now.

03:11:14 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 6:

How much is it right now?

03:11:15 - 03:11:23 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, and I don't know. But let's not raise price of anything right now. We can't even buy eggs these days. You know what I mean? It's expensive as hell, so...

03:11:23 - 03:11:26 | Speaker 4:

I almost put a tariff on the iHeartRadio app, but we said no.

03:11:26 - 03:11:50 | Speaker 5:

No tariffs on the iHeartRadio app. By the way, another thing that Trump did yesterday, I think you'll like it. They say that he's doing a lot of these 90-10 things, which is 90% of people agree with it, 10% don't. He is changing the faucets in our showers. Oh, water pressure. Yeah, like a couple presidents back, they did it where they put that...

03:11:51 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 6:

This is a real thing.

03:11:52 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 5:

Have you noticed that the water pressure is less in your showers? If you buy a new water head right now, the water doesn't come out as strong because there's a regulator in there, so you use less water.

03:12:04 - 03:12:07 | Speaker 6:

I've had, I think, the same shower head since I moved into this house a decade ago.

03:12:07 - 03:12:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's been a while. So this happened, I don't know, maybe 10 years ago or something like that.

03:12:14 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 2:

They put restrictors on. They used to have a restrictor where you could take it out, but now they weld it in. And you take a shower or wash your hands, whatever you do, including dishwashers where no water comes out. But you wash your hands, and in my case, I like to take a nice shower to take care of my beautiful hair. I have to stand in the shower for 15 minutes until it gets wet. It comes out drip, drip, drip. It's ridiculous.

03:12:39 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 5:

So they're getting rid of the regulators, and they're going to try to send this bill to the Congress to get them to pass it so that they can get rid of those regulators.

03:12:48 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 4:

We're focused on the right stuff, man. I do love a firm, hot shower.

03:12:51 - 03:12:54 | Speaker 6:

I love a hot shower, Kevin. I want my skin to be scalded.

03:12:55 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 5:

That's how hot I like my showers. Kevin, come on. Don't be so upset about this. It's a 90-10 issue they're saying here.

03:13:03 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, you sound tired. I thought you were the hype man. This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show.

03:13:14 - 03:13:17 | Speaker 4:

We're raising tariffs and energy levels, huh? Everything's going up.

03:13:18 - 03:14:03 | Speaker 5:

Give me some water. I'm fine with water. By the way, there's a new vacuum. You ready for this one? There's a new vacuum that is out that not only will help you clean, but also will alert you that you have a text message or a call alert. Okay, this is dumb. They also have a new refrigerator that says that you can play video games or trivia games on it. Dumb. And one with a large screen television. These are all things that are coming out right now, new appliances that are coming out from Samsung and GE. GE, meanwhile, has an AI-powered kitchen where you can AI-power your kitchen to even tell you what to make and how to make it instead of having to go on to YouTube to try to figure out your latest meals.

03:14:03 - 03:14:03 | Speaker 6:

Okay, that's kind of cool.

03:14:04 - 03:14:09 | Speaker 5:

Let AI figure it all out. All these things are things that the industry is looking at right now to be putting out to you.

03:14:09 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 6:

I know there are apps that are websites that will tell you, based on what food you have in your cupboards and your fridge, like what to whip up. I think that's kind of cool.

03:14:19 - 03:14:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I just want my robot.

03:14:22 - 03:14:30 | Speaker 5:

Why don't they come up with something that flips the laundry from the washer to the dryer? Like, wouldn't that be something to have?

03:14:31 - 03:14:34 | Speaker 6:

I don't mind doing that myself. It's putting it away.

03:14:34 - 03:14:41 | Speaker 5:

Why don't they have a washer and dryer combo where it washes your clothes and then automatically starts drying it right afterwards?

03:14:42 - 03:14:44 | Speaker 4:

They don't already have that? I don't know. If they do, tell me about it.

03:14:46 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 5:

Booze, by the way, is an issue. Did you see yesterday the Surgeon General came out and said even one drink every now and again causes cancer? They're now on this kick right now saying that booze more than ever is causing people to get cancer. Alcohol.

03:15:00 - 03:15:06 | Speaker 6:

Then you have the doctors that say a red wine a day is good for your heart or whatever. I'm so confused by all of it. What do you want?

03:15:06 - 03:15:44 | Speaker 8:

You want a good heart or cancer? Which one do you want? You're going to give both. And more people are choosing to have pets over children. More people than ever, with the decline of the fertility rates, say that they are choosing to have dog ownership over trying to go through a fertility clinic to go and get. into the process of IVF. A lot are saying that the price is one of the big issues, but others are saying that they think that raising a pet or being a pet parent is going to be easier than being a child. Pets can be very expensive, too.

03:15:44 - 03:15:53 | Speaker 6:

I know IVF is expensive, but truly, some of these surgeries that these pets require to stay alive, and we talked about this a little bit this week, are very expensive. What did you find?

03:15:53 - 03:16:05 | Speaker 7:

I found you a two-in-one washer-dryer, wash and dry loads, large loads, in just two hours. How much is it? I got $30 on it for you. You'll send me the money?

03:16:05 - 03:16:12 | Speaker 8:

Of course. You're my friend. I like my meals better. Wait, is it really? I'm so serious, man. It will turn on? That's amazing.

03:16:12 - 03:16:15 | Speaker 6:

Does it say, like, contact for price? Because then you know it's crazy.

03:16:16 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 7:

I'm on a national chain. We can all know and love. You can go in there right now and go get it.

03:16:21 - 03:16:22 | Speaker 8:

Misfit Victor, what's up?

03:16:22 - 03:16:22 | Speaker 7:

Victor!

03:16:23 - 03:17:01 | Speaker 8:

Hey, how's that? You're what? I can't hear you. This is one of those things. I hate when my friends do this. They'll call me, and then their calls flip over to the Bluetooth. We're calling. I can't hear you. Oh, I forget it. I can't understand. Love you, Victor. Have a blessed day. I can't understand. I hate when that happens. You ever have that happen to you? It's like, hold on a second here. Hang up the phone, mother fucker. All right, we're out of here for today. We will see you tomorrow morning for more. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
