00:09:01 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't have a secret, but I swear I crack up every time Shannon talks about his ankles because we've been teasing him about that since he was a kid. So, Shannon, I don't know what happened, but he was born with those ankles.

about kevin that we haven't heard well this is not a good story but when he was when he was little he was uh a tyrant and uh we all know that kevin has gas but nevertheless nevertheless he did something very bad and that was boo-boo and rubbed it all over the wall that's like a rite of passage yeah he made he had to make his mark he made his mark you made it by the way that is kind of a

00:11:11 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

thing there's something about kids liking to play finger paint with their boo-boo it is you know every kid has done it finger paint you're right by the way the other day he almost did it in our studio hallway there.

00:12:54 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 4:

That clip might not be the greatest example of it, but it's very funny. And Kanye had the big song on the radio this year. What year was it? Win Kesha tickets right now if you know the year. Good luck.

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:15:21 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 4:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending this morning in the Dirty on 30. What's up, Shan?

00:15:25 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 5:

I had some sad news yesterday. Eric Dane, a.k.a. McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy and Cal on Euphoria, has been diagnosed with ALS. Shared that diagnosis with People Magazine, and then I saw it everywhere yesterday afternoon.

00:15:39 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 4:

Is that Lou Gehrig's disease?

00:15:40 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. It said that his health has not impacted his plans to return for Euphoria Season 3, if you're a fan of that. So I know filming started back in January, but he will be on the set in the coming days alongside Zendaya and Sidney Sweeney. Wow. Yeah.

00:15:56 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 4:

And that is, and that's, there's no cure for ALS.

00:15:59 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 5:

No, and it's very progressive. Wow. Yeah.

00:16:01 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 4:

Sad.

00:16:02 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 5:

Jelly Roll joined Pat McAfee on stage for one of his live shows this week where he, as in Jelly Roll, announced he has lost almost 200 pounds at this point, you guys. Wow.

00:16:14 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 4:

Do you mind, do you mind giving an update on where you started and where you are now?

00:16:18 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

I started at 540 pounds. I'm 357 pounds. That's amazing. I'm going to lose another 100 pounds and go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby.

00:16:31 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 5:

Love it. Huge congrats to him.

00:16:34 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 4:

That Pat McAfee thing was unbelievable, too. You see how many people showed out for that? He's got, you know, he's a media giant right now. Yeah, he's big time. I saw Snoop, Wiz Khalifa out there. It was pretty crazy. He can pull people. There's something that Pat McAfee has that turns to gold.

00:16:53 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 5:

Val Kilmer's cause of death has been confirmed. the Top Gun actor who passed away on April 1st at the age of 65 died of pneumonia. Additionally, malnutrition and a complication of his throat cancer treatment and tracheostomy contributed to his passing. Squamous cell carcinoma, which he had at the base of his tongue, that's actually the skin cancer that I had twice, was also listed as an underlying cause in his death as well. And the nation's top health agency will determine and disclose the cause of autism. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that effort should be completed by September. It's going to involve hundreds of scientists. He made that announcement with President Donald Trump during a televised cabinet meeting yesterday. The autism rates have gone from

00:17:39 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 2:

now most recent numbers we think are going to be about 1 in 31 and 1 in 12. So they're going up again from one in ten thousand when i was a kid and we are going at your direction we are going to know by september we've launched a massive uh testing and research effort that's going to involve hundreds of scientists from around the world by september we will know what has caused the autism epidemic and we'll be we'll be able to eliminate those exposures wow i wonder if the

00:18:16 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 4:

if it's just more that people are talking about it and why the numbers seem like they've gone up or what it is.

00:18:23 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 5:

I mean, because from one in 10,000 to one in 30... That's unreal. ...is very, very crazy to me. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, for all of this week's Dirty, if you missed anything, listen to the podcast, search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

00:18:55 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 5:

Could you imagine?

00:18:58 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 4:

It's right outside. Matter of fact, it's running. There's a guy sitting in it right now, getting ready to go to work across. You ever see that guy that sits in the car and just sleeps before work? Is it a lady? I think so, yeah. I just see the mouth open, sleeping, and they're waiting to go to work or something across the street. so they get here and get some rest beforehand. Ryan, you're going to have a chance to win a new car. Find the fob. Congratulations.

00:19:22 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Ryan. Thanks, guys. I'm like, wait a minute. I'm listening to the show right now, too, so I'm like, wait, what's happening?

00:19:29 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. We were going to take your car that you're going to win and we're going to give it to Kevin. Are you okay with that?

00:19:34 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 1:

I mean, if Kevin wants it, I'm okay with it.

00:19:36 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 4:

You heard it.

00:19:37 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 1:

00:20:46 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 2:

are listening to the show right now are you listening to the radio show um i want you to listen up here right now because when i saw this story i thought to myself oh my god this reminds me of a teacher that I had um I guess it doesn't happen nowadays as much as it probably happened when we were younger but when you were younger did you ever have a teacher that would ask you to do something for them that if they did it nowadays they'd probably be fired from their job

00:21:13 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 4:

oh god I have to think about this for a second you want me to give you an example yeah mrs mcgee

00:21:21 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 2:

used to have us give her back rubs in the front of the class we've talked about this before that is so weird. She was the back rub lady. The reason I bring this up was there's a middle school assistant principal right now that is in trouble because the assistant principal would force the 13 year old students in the class to massage her feet. Okay. Not her feet. Yes. Actually would massage the feet. Her name was Kieva Lark. And she would have them, the kids who got themselves into trouble come to the office and give her foot massages she's now being charged with lewd and lascivia is it was a lascivia whoa hold on a second keep going keep trying hold on highlight it and click the store no no hold on hold on paste and search hold on a second Open a new window. No, no. I got it right here. L-A-S.

00:22:17 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 3:

What? What word is this? These journalists got to relax, bro.

00:22:22 - 00:22:26 | Speaker 2:

I-O-E-S. All right, here we go. All right, I got it right here.

00:22:28 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 4:

Lascivious. Lascivious. I've never heard that damn word before.

00:22:31 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, Lascivious.

00:22:32 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:22:33 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 2:

She would make them do lewd and lascivious conduct. Oh.

00:22:38 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I would consider that lewd, but it's weird. I wore socks off and had them barefoot and sprayed lotion in the hands.

00:22:46 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 2:

Ew, ew, ew, ew. All right, Lydia, this is what I want to find out. Because I don't think this happens nowadays. But if it does, I want to know about it. Are there any teachers that you remember when you were growing up as a kid that used to have you do something for them that you know nowadays if they did it, they'd be completely fired, put in jail, or never allowed to do that career ever again? Ugh.

00:23:09 - 00:23:19 | Speaker 4:

We used to hang out at some of our teachers' houses. Did you? That's crazy. And I know we're, like, all female teachers, but I feel like even that would be very frowned upon nowadays.

00:23:19 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 3:

Girl on girl is real. They just had a teacher, I want to say, within the last six months, a male teacher that had, I believe it was only female students, braid and unbraid his hair. This was, like, a big thing, and I want to say he got fired over this. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that sounds like within the last six months. That sounds, yeah.

00:23:37 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 4:

Braid and unbraid his hair?

00:23:39 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 3:

Like, he would sit in a chair and have, like, three female students around him taking down his braids.

00:23:44 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 2:

This assistant principal is getting pedicures, it sounded like. All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

00:23:53 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love it. She's taking the kids to school, and she is also a post office carrier. So we love it. You just got to stay fit for that. All right. I'm going to lock you up in a soundproof area, Ryan. You're not going to hear anything, and then all of a sudden you're going to be with Lydia, okay? Sounds good. All right. Stay right there. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Jackie, what was it today? Was it arms, legs, or all of the above?

00:24:58 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 3:

00:26:32 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 1:

No, cardio is good for you. It's the questions that kills you. Here we go, Ryan. You got to beat two. Question number one. Justin Bieber revealed on social media yesterday that he has broken ties with the fashion brand that he helped create. What's it called? Oh, my gosh. I have no idea.

Khloe Kardashian is calling out this ex-boyfriend for owning a creepy sex doll that resembled her. Who is he?

00:28:05 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:28:50 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Don't go anywhere, okay?

00:28:52 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit.

00:28:54 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 1:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. All right, it is Mojo in the Mornings. Okay, so we're talking about what is it that your teacher made you do that nowadays would get them probably fired. Stacey, hi, what's happening? Hi, how are you? Good. What did your teacher make you do?

00:29:26 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 2:

So in elementary school, we had a music teacher, and she used to have us come into the class first thing and wrap tape around our hands, you know, so that the sticky side was out. Yeah. And she would have us pat her, pretty much her body down, to get the cat fur off of her.

00:29:45 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Oh, my God.

00:29:47 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 2:

So, did someone just have bought her a lint roller for Christmas, for God's sakes? Exactly, I know. Back then, I don't know that they had those exactly, but they still had those, like, weird ones with the red velvet, you know?

00:29:58 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes! Do you know, like, did you go home?

00:30:00 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 7:

home and tell your mom that that happened you don't know because we didn't think it was i guess

00:30:05 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

wrong or weird the funny thing is i remember i remember massaging my teacher's back i would go home and tell my dad and he would say well i hope you give her a good massage she deserves it she's a nice lady you know what i mean like your stuff like that funny crazy yeah i remember we all just

00:30:20 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 7:

really always dreaded going into that class in the morning that's unreal uh page hi what would

00:30:27 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 8:

you do for your teacher hi um so it wasn't exactly doing something for the teacher but we went on spontaneous field trips two blocks down from our school to get starbucks for the teacher oh spontaneous field trips in their quote and would the whole class go yeah so and would you she said we couldn't be late to class or we wouldn't be able to go like it was a benefit for

00:30:55 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 2:

us okay and would she buy you guys anything or would she just watch her drink no that's amazing it's like hey guys and you guys i'm assuming we're walking there right yeah it was yeah it was a big two box all right guys we're all going for a walk right now and it's funny too because i remember in school back in the day the teachers would go all right grab your coats guys we're just gonna go outside for a little bit i'm like oh my god we're having fun i didn't realize we're running

00:31:18 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 5:

her errands uh what's up jill how you doing hey so um i'm probably a little bit older than some of your listeners but um i do love you guys so much and so i thought i'd call in to tell you that my fifth grade teacher um hosted sleepovers so this was a male teacher that we had and he would be put in groups of about five girls and about five boys and you'd be selected to go over for the sleepover um his wife was there too you we'd have hot dogs they'd take us for a ride in his dune buggy and the girls would sleep on the living room floor and the boys would sleep in the basement oh my god imagine now he'd play his guitar for you and um and seriously we all 100% loved it yeah he was probably one of the most influential people but um i'm a teacher now and like i don't even like i wouldn't even touch one of my students like yeah yeah yeah it's crazy that shift isn't it

00:32:12 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 2:

Funny, though, it's, like, wild, but nothing happened. It was actually something nice that was going on, but it was nothing.

00:32:17 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 8:

And a core memory for you. But now you look back and get icky.

00:32:22 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 5:

And we also slept over at the school. We did a kibbutz where the entire class slept at school.

00:32:28 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 1:

Yes, it's all good until you go in the basement and find 30 years of hidden camera videos of you guys sleeping at his crib.

00:32:37 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 2:

Wow, I never thought about that.

00:32:39 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 1:

That's insane.

00:32:40 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

That's unbelievable. Peyton, hi. How are you? Good. How are you? Good. We're talking about things that you did with your teacher that would get him fired nowadays.

00:32:50 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my teacher definitely would have been fired. Fired. He would only call on me with my math teacher in high school. He also requested to have me two years in a row from my counselor. And he would only call on me to answer the math equations like up on the board. And then after class, he would comment about how thick and nice my body looks.

00:33:17 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was wondering why he's only calling on you. I'm like going, what's his point? He was trying to get you to the front of the class so he could see your thick booty.

00:33:26 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and then he was like, oh, my son is single. Like, you want to come over? And I was like, what?

00:33:32 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 1:

What a creep. Bro didn't even have a son. Oh, I know. He was bad.

00:33:37 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 2:

He was awful. That would be Kevin, by the way, as a teacher. You got a nice, thick, juicy booty. You got a nice, thick, juicy booty. Unless I'm going to go to Sweetwater in this camp for school. Hold on. Cassandra had a teacher that took it one step forward. Saltwater. What would your gym teacher do?

00:33:59 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 4:

We had what's called the spanking machine. So the whole class would line up in two rolls for your birthday, and you had to run through and everyone spanked you. Oh, my God.

00:34:09 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 1:

What are y'all training for?

00:34:12 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 4:

That is messed up.

00:34:14 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

It was so bad. We're doing that to Kevin for his birthday today. We're all at it. You like it. I'm leaving now. Getting you hooked up to the spanking machine. Kelly, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:34:27 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi there. So my best friend growing up in high school, her uncle actually used to work at our high school. And he was a teacher there. And I was kind of a troubled kid. i knew this uncle for a while but i ended up moving in with him um just as a roommate he was a cool guy but his house i didn't know was a teacher hangout so on the weekends all the teachers would be coming over and this is like they didn't know how to use youtube or anything so i'd be like their dj playing all their music and we'd be smoking and drinking and getting hired and entirely

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 2:

weekend you'd be smoking drinking getting high and you would play the music for your teacher yes where did where did you go to school what what school is this so this is actually in canada

00:35:11 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 4:

okay i moved to canada for a while and then i came back to michigan um but yeah that it was pretty crazy i didn't expect to be hanging out with all my high school teachers unreal that's

00:35:22 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 2:

crazy partying with the teachers did you have a classmate named wes do you know that i used to drink with my uh with my uh teachers in high school so did Wes but because in Canada the

00:35:34 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 1:

drinking age was different and he was a little bit older and so this was like at the end of high school his I think they called it year 13 which they had at the time and he would go to the bar

00:35:43 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 2:

and his teachers would be there we had a bar called there was Riley's daughter right down the street from our high school and my uh teacher coach used to sit go hey you guys want to go have a drink? And I'm like, yeah, no problem. We'd go

00:35:55 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

have drinks. I will say, I'm not for teachers having fun with children, but there was an orchestra teacher we had named Miss Cromer. Yeah. If she had attached to me on my thigh, I would have loved her.

00:36:07 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 2:

You would have loved her. I know, we all had to do.

00:36:08 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 3:

You've talked about her before, haven't you?

00:36:11 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

My hot teacher was Miss Garvey. Your hot teacher was still at the school, wasn't he, when you first

00:36:16 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 1:

started on the show? I want to say he's a principal at another school now. Wow.

00:36:20 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 2:

The hot principal now. Hold on a second. Marie, what did your teacher do back when you were in school that would get them fired nowadays?

00:36:29 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 6:

Yes, so in middle school, our male gym teacher's office was in the girls' locker room.

00:36:38 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't seem right. Yeah, that doesn't seem right.

00:36:42 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 6:

We all thought it was a little weird.

00:36:44 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 2:

Could he see you in the showers and things?

00:36:47 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 6:

He would make us take a shower, but he would stay in his office. Oh, don't buy that.

00:36:52 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 2:

that's a little shady somehow where the cameras were hold on christy has something similar to

00:36:57 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 5:

that christy what did your gym teacher do uh she used to make us come out of the shower and make sure that we had water all over us and that we actually showered in front of her oh my god

00:37:08 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 2:

wait do you know if was she uh was she straight or what was she um afterwards we found out that

00:37:16 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 5:

She left her husband, and she came out. Oh. The town hung in a separate area, and we had to walk out in front of her. What? Duh, is anybody hearing this? Nobody thought that that was strange. What's going on? Oh, we talk about it nowadays at, like, our class reunions and stuff. Yeah.

00:37:35 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy. Bro. Oh, my God. This is, like, unbelievable. Literally, I've got a million calls that are on here right now that are almost similar to those calls. This is insanity. All right. Well, different times now, different times.

00:37:51 - 00:37:54 | Speaker 4:

Shannon's Dirty coming up in less than 30. Give it some Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:55 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 2:

Coming up later this hour on the Mojo in the Morning show, the Pope is going to visit us today. What? Yes, he's back from having bad health, and he's going to join us this morning when we do the topic, what's something that you've done in your life that would keep you out of heaven? And we're going to do some confessions. We're going to bless you. We're going to get you into heaven coming up later this hour. I don't think the Pope has been in this new studio, has he? I don't think so. All right, 25. I don't think so. Yeah. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Shannon all week has been talking about this thing that she cannot untaste.

00:38:31 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 1:

And I'm so mad about this because has anybody ever said anything to you about the taste of a food or a drink that you really like and then it ruined it for you completely? because that's exactly what happened here. I love grapefruit juice. I know that may be weird. It's my favorite juice. I buy it all the time from Trader Joe's. And Wes casually mentioned to me the other day after he took a swig from the grapefruit juice bottle because that's how he and I roll with that stuff. The kids don't drink it. And he was like, I feel like grapefruit juice tastes like tangy vomit. Like, you know, after you throw up enough times, it like burns in your mouth. And he's like, that's grapefruit juice. I just like had that feeling. I'm like, dang it. I can, I had to, I was cleaning out the fridge last night before I went to bed. I'm like, well, there goes the grapefruit juice. I don't think I can drink it anymore. That's all I thought about all week when I was drinking in the morning was vomit.

00:39:26 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny that you, uh, you say that. Cause I think grapefruit juice does taste like, really? Like, yeah, it tastes, it smells like it.

00:39:33 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

Like, like when I, it does have a funky smell.

00:39:35 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 2:

Do you know the smell that you remember when you were in school and somebody did throw up and you're like you walked up turn the hallway and you're like oh god i didn't smell it like that to me is grapefruit juice and i grapefruit juice to me is only okay if you throw a bunch

00:39:49 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 3:

of titos in it like you know what i mean you just had a grapefruit in the studio the other day and i

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

threw it out because i thought it was an orange oh is that what happened yeah i thought it was an orange it was like

00:40:00 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 1:

I thought it was a super-sized orange. I thought it was a super-sized orange.

00:40:03 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 4:

I saw you holding something up going, what is this? What is this? What is this? I'm like, it's a freaking orange?

00:40:09 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. It's this huge orange I got. I'm like, I don't think that's an orange.

00:40:12 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 1:

My mom used to eat grapefruit in the morning, but she would put sugar all over the top. And I'm like, that's the only way to do. Yeah. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who ruined the taste of something for you? And what did they do that you just cannot eat it now because of that? You know what's funny about smells? The other one is, and I'm going to ruin it for you. I think that the McDonald's Egg McMuffins smell like farts.

00:40:43 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, anything egg smells like farts to me.

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

If you smell an Egg McMuffin, though, specifically, it smells like rotten booty.

00:40:50 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 4:

It does. If you have one of those in your car, your car smells like that for a run.

00:40:53 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 1:

Leave it in there for a little bit, and it is basically in your seats.

00:40:57 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 3:

And if you eat it dry with no jelly, I think you've killed somebody.

00:41:01 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 1:

You put jelly on your Egg McMuffin?

00:41:02 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 3:

You have to, bro. Strawberries specifically.

00:41:04 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

I didn't realize.

00:41:04 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 4:

Y'all don't put jelly on? That actually sounds really good. I've just never done it. What? Y'all just eat it raw?

00:41:08 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 1:

I usually, no. I'm not raw. I've done like hot sauces or something like that. In the morning? Yeah. Like I'll ask them for like a pack of something.

00:41:17 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 3:

McDonald's don't have packets of hot sauce. They have like, yeah, for their little burritos. They do? They do? Yeah. That's hot, by the way. I haven't been in a while.

00:41:24 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes. By the way, what are you going to have for your birthday breakfast? Because I want to buy you a birthday breakfast.

00:41:28 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to have this LeBron James Hennessy.

00:41:30 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Seriously. Can we order your birthday breakfast?

00:41:34 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

I'm not a big breakfast person, to be honest with you.

00:41:37 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 1:

Steak and eggs.

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 4:

No, let's just have a shot.

00:41:39 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 1:

All right. We'll drink.

00:41:40 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 4:

He's just asking because he wants to order breakfast, and he needs a reason. I had egg bites already.

00:41:46 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 1:

No, but I was going to buy him breakfast. I've done this for anybody who has a birthday. I'll get him breakfast. I appreciate it. Amanda, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:41:53 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I got one for you, Shannon. Someone once told me that cilantro smells like stink bugs, and now I can't eat it anymore, and I love cilantro.

00:42:01 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 4:

Cilantro is such a polarizing food. Like, Wes can't even smell it, and if it gets in his food, it tastes like soap to a lot of people. That's a big one. Right?

00:42:10 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 2:

I've heard that, too. Yeah. You guys have a great day. You, too.

00:42:15 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 1:

You, too. Bye-bye. Take care of yourself. Cilantro, to me, is so funny when people will put cilantro on something, And they do act like they're allergic to it Like it's It's like if they have a peanut allergy It's like there's peanuts on the thing But they go so crazy Lydia, you gotta do the You gotta text the avocado one Because the avocado one is a hysterical story I just looked at on the text They don't want to come on They don't want to come on? Then I'll read it to you It says, can't talk Former producer Ellen ruined avocados for me Because she said they tasted like clean D So you want dirty D? I guess she said that one time on the air. Good morning, Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:42:57 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 2:

Hi. My name's Callie, and I got root beer ruined for me.

00:43:02 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 1:

How can you ruin root beer? What happened?

00:43:05 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 2:

That's my favorite. Winter green gum is the same flavor as root beer.

00:43:11 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Really? That's interesting. So once you taste winter green gum, it reminds me. I love root beer. So do I. Root beer to me, and for some reason, it's got to be root beer out of a bottle, like out of a glass bottle, like those IBCs or whatever.

00:43:27 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 4:

Right, like A&W. See, I love A&W. Out the moogs.

00:43:30 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Out the moogs. Yeah.

00:43:31 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that is old school.

00:43:35 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 1:

What's up? Courtney, hi. It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

00:43:39 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I think when you open a bag of potato chips, it smells like dirty feet. It does. Yeah. You are so right.

00:43:45 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

What's the potato chip brand, though, that smells the worst? because there's some that smell worse than others.

00:43:51 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 3:

I think Lay's.

00:43:52 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 1:

Lay's is the bad one. That's the worst smelling thing.

00:43:54 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 3:

Especially when they had a green around the ears or something. Ew, I throw those ones away. I throw them away.

00:43:59 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 1:

That's a disease. Really?

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 4:

They weren't ripe potatoes.

00:44:03 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

I feel like I dipped in avocado or something. What's going on, Sarah? How are you doing?

00:44:10 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

00:44:12 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 1:

Good. What ruined your favorite food?

00:44:16 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 2:

I can't do popcorn. Butter, popcorn. Popcorn specifically, like, microwaved, it smells like feet. What?

00:44:24 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 1:

That's interesting.

00:44:25 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 2:

They're not getting the right kind.

00:44:26 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, are you sure that you're not getting feet?

00:44:28 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I can't say. Not like movie theater. Movie theater popcorn is, like, it's good. The stuff, you know, the bag are.

00:44:35 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 1:

But, like, popcorn, the popcorn that's pre-made, you're saying, like, that's in a bag, like, you would buy in the chip aisle.

00:44:40 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like that you pop at home in the microwave. I can see that. Yeah. I'm telling you, best popcorn at home is Kroger brand.

00:44:47 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 1:

Kroger brand popcorn?

00:44:48 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 3:

Just throw that in there, press the microwave, press the popcorn button twice, 2.5 ounces.

00:44:52 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 1:

And you know what? I agree with you that microwave popcorn is fantastic, and popcorn at a movie theater is great. I think the popcorn that's off of a shelf. that's just in a bag like potato chips is awful. No, awful. I hate that stuff. Alicia, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:45:07 - 00:45:18 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I can't eat blueberries. Oh, I love blueberries. It's like snot when you eat them. So every time I eat a blueberry, I think I'm eating like a bubble of snot.

00:45:19 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:45:20 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 3:

I can't do it.

00:45:22 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 1:

Blueberries, especially if you get a bad blueberry. You ever have a bad blueberry?

00:45:25 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 3:

They have to be fun or I'll say it. They have to. I toss it back in the thing.

00:45:28 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It goes in the trash. Somebody said that smell top ramen, it smells like pee.

00:45:34 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 5:

It does, but I love top ramen.

00:45:36 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Dawn? How you doing?

00:45:38 - 00:45:39 | Unknown:

Hi, Pete.

00:45:39 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

00:45:41 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 1:

Morning. What's going on?

00:45:44 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to take it. I was told that Fritos smells like dog pee. Oh, yeah. Dog paws. It does.

00:45:50 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 1:

It does. Fritos is dog pee mixed with.

00:45:53 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 3:

Not dog pee. Dog paws.

00:45:55 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Or dog paws?

00:45:56 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dog.

00:45:56 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's bad. I think it's bad feet. I think it's got a bad feet smell to it. It tastes great, though. I haven't had Fritos in forever. I thought they stopped making them because they had some kind of something with them. What's up, Caitlin? How you doing?

00:46:08 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning. What's going on? My husband thinks the brown and served frozen sausage tastes like zoo animals.

00:46:16 - 00:46:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, jeez.

00:46:19 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 4:

He thinks that the smell of the zoo animals is the same as the sausage, makes a gag and everything, can't have it in the house, nothing.

00:46:26 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 3:

That is such a distinct smell. I can smell that as you're describing it.

00:46:30 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 1:

That reminds me of Saturday mornings for some reason, like when you'd make breakfast or something like that at your house. What's up, Jennifer? Hi. Hey, Jen.

00:46:40 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How are you? Long time. First time. Yes, you're on a boat. Like 25 years or something.

00:46:50 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Extra one for you. What's going on?

00:46:53 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 5:

um when i was younger i had the carpool with this older gentleman that wore lots of bengay and he would have the heat on super high and the bengay would permeate and make me nauseous so now anytime anyone eats anything winter green of any kind i can smell it a mile away and it's

00:47:16 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 1:

disgusting yeah that's actually you know that's actually a really interesting point because the caller that previously was talking about the winter green and how that kind of made themselves

00:47:26 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 3:

it's been bengay that's the problem for sure i'm the same way with anything watermelon flavored because the nair that i used to use in high school had a watermelon scent really and i don't know why

00:47:37 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 1:

i can't do anything watermelon have you ever had a smell that reminds you of somebody that was bad in your life or did something bad to you like either an ex or a co-worker that was a pain in the ass because there's one for me it's a co-worker and the smell anytime i smell it and i used to like it i don't like it anymore and i and i smelled i'll tell you off the air okay but i smell i smelled it the other day and i was like oh like oh my god and it was a smell it was like seriously like no kidding it was like all of a sudden i felt like i'm going back to like bad part of my childhood or something so uh you can't eat peas why zach because it's like popping a zit in your mouth It's disgusting.

00:48:18 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Okay. That guy just did it for me.

00:48:20 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 2:

The only time you can eat peas. Since I was young, I haven't been able to eat peas. And a funny thing is my in-laws sent us some peas one time for, like, a Christmas present. It was disgusting.

00:48:36 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 1:

The only time you can eat peas is if you mix them with mashed potatoes. Like, if you put it all together in one.

00:48:40 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 2:

And that's low-key fire.

00:48:41 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 1:

That is, you know, like the KFC bowls. What's up, Bob? Blake, hi.

00:48:46 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 6:

Why are you talking? Hey, good morning. Morning. Mustard. Mustard does it for me. Straight up smells like boobies. It does it?

00:48:56 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 3:

Mustard. Boobies? Boobies? No. Oh. Like cheeks. That's a wild taste.

00:49:03 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yeah. It does. It kind of has a booty smell.

00:49:06 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 3:

Whose booty have you been smelling lately, Blake?

00:49:10 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 1:

I want to know what booty you're smelling.

00:49:12 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 3:

They need to wash better.

00:49:14 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 1:

It's the Dijon.

00:49:14 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 6:

Well, I've been smelling some good ones recently.

00:49:19 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 1:

I hope you guys are good with never eating barbecue Fritos ever again because, Jim, what do they smell like?

00:49:26 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 2:

Dude, those little bags of barbecue Fritos, they smell like dirty vagina.

00:49:32 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Vagina. Why are you saying that like that? Why are you buying barbecue Fritos in the first place? No, no, no. Jen is right. Why are you talking like that?

00:49:39 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 3:

This is making me uncomfortable.

00:49:42 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

They smell like dirty vagina. I just woke up. He on a phone, Nicky, right now. When's the last time you've either had barbecue Fritos or dirty vagina? Which one have you had last? Yesterday I had that little bag of dirty...

00:53:05 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:53:08 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 5:

It's Kev's birthday after this dirty. I think we got to do a shot. Why after the dirty? Why not before the dirty, during the dirty, and then after the dirty? What kind of, it's your birthday, you decide. What do you want to drink today? Whatever's the closest alcohol. All right, I get to pick then? Let's get it. All right, Kevin's birthday today. Wish him a happy birthday, guys, on social media. Shannon, what do you got?

00:53:31 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, starting off with an incredibly sad story, and the video is so tough to watch. I'm sure you've all seen it by now. The helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River in Manhattan yesterday afternoon, taking the lives of all six people on board video posted on social media and i mean you can see it on the news shows this helicopter and some other debris just plummeting into the water after about

00:53:52 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 1:

18 minutes in the air it sounded like a sonic boom on on my right so i look up and literally as you see a helicopter splitting in two with the rotor flying off in the sky it was going so fast it just went straight into the water like it was i've never seen anything like it really did this

00:54:09 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 2:

is New York City Mayor Eric Adams talking about it. The pilot and the family visiting from Spain with our preliminary information has at this time. Members of the FDNY and NYPD harbor units arrived at the scene and divers from both agencies entered the water. Yeah, like the mayor said,

00:54:28 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 3:

the chopper was carrying a family of tourists from Spain, two adults, mom and dad, three kids, ages 4, 5, and 11, as well as the pilot. The family was in New York City. This was the first day of a trip they were there for to celebrate a birthday. It was the helicopter's sixth flight of the day. No issues before this one, obviously.

00:54:50 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

NYPD divers pulled four people from the crash site, and FDNY divers recovered an additional two. Immediate life-saving measures were undertaken on the...

00:55:00 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 1:

vessels at the scene, as well as the adjoining pier. Four victims were pronounced dead on scene and two more were removed to local area hospitals, where sadly both succumbed to their injuries.

00:55:14 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 3:

You know, it's funny that you watch these helicopters fly all the time. If you've ever been to New York or over the Hudson, it's their thing that they do there. A lot of people doing nice tours to see all the buildings and also go to see where the old World Trade Center was and the memorial is it's a beautiful thing to do when i saw that video yesterday and saw it go straight down like that and obviously you know that that's what happens when a helicopter fails it just is gonna it's gonna dive to the ground i don't know if i can get into a helicopter ever again and i you know we've seen obviously helicopter accidents happen before kobe uh situation there is no way to save yourself from a situation like that and they tell you in those helicopters if you've ever been on those tour helicopters they tell you all right in the case of an emergency you know reach up right behind you pull your your uh you know seat belt off when we do go to the ground so that you can get out of the helicopter fast enough and they're saying that they think that the the water could have potentially not killed them right away but they could have gotten out of there they're going to do an autopsy to see if they died from the impact or died from the drowning but you think about this as a dad and a mom in there with your little kids you're trying to save

00:56:27 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 2:

your little kids if you did and it happened so fast i don't know if there was a time i don't i

00:56:31 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

can't imagine that thing came down so hard yeah it's it's insane have you ever been in a helicopter many times yeah i mean it's it's scary to see what what took place and they said that this uh this person that um that flew the helicopter was like one of the best pilots that they had too yeah

00:56:47 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 2:

i mean you see him too in the photo of the family that was taken right before they took off Oh, jeez. Yeah, it's terrible. Taylor Swift has filed a cease and desist, apparently, against Kanye West after he posted some sexually explicit tweets about her. This was that rant he went on the night before last. We talked about it a ton in the dirty yesterday. Claimed that Taylor baked cookies with Justin Bieber and Harry Styles at the same time. Described it in very, very graphic terms. Well, somebody told the Daily Mail that Kanye's behavior has crossed a legal red line here. This time he has gone too far. His claims are not just false, they're defamatory, and so she is doing something about it.

00:57:28 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

Uh-oh.

00:57:29 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, somebody else in trouble.

00:57:30 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Wait, I've heard the Daily Mail has a story that says that Travis wants to fight Kanye.

00:57:37 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 2:

Come on.

00:57:38 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you. Oh, because of the Taylor situation. Because of this, because of him. I want to see this. He has to defend her honor. I would like to see Travis Kelsey beat Kanye's ass. If he does that, if he proves that he loves her that much, that he would do this for all of us that are tired of Kanye's craziness, this would actually be something that would make me a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

00:58:01 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

You believe the relationship is real? For this.

00:58:04 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 3:

No, just for this, I would believe it's real. That's what a man does for his wife's or girlfriend's honor, right? Sure. Right?

00:58:13 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:58:14 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I got to put my Pope costume on.

00:58:15 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay his former assistant nearly $4 million after he was found liable by a California jury in a lawsuit that alleged he sexually assaulted her, again, his former assistant, held her captive, and also failed to pay her for her work. Soulja Boy's accuser, only listed as John Doe here, was awarded the damages yesterday. A second phase of the trial is not going to determine punitive damages, so she'll probably get more money. he told Rolling Stone he's really upset about this because he said the district attorney, this music is so loud sorry, I'm sorry, I don't have my headphones on I couldn't hear myself talking so he did an interview with Rolling Stone about this or commented to Rolling Stone and he said the district attorney never even filed charges for this, he said I was never charged or convicted of this criminally so to be accused civilly is beyond me, I've never done any of the things they're accusing me of, I just feel like this is very unfair That was his statement. You look very regal.

01:02:08 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 1:

You want to drink hard stuff?

01:02:09 - 01:02:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's go hard. Save the soft stuff for somebody else.

01:02:12 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 1:

Are you sure you want tequila?

01:02:14 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 2:

I want whatever's close, bruh.

01:02:16 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 1:

Look at this thing.

01:02:17 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

What's that? Oh, God. Look at this bottle. Wait, what is that tequila? That bottle's as tall as me. Probably as strong as you, too.

01:02:26 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay, ready? Shannon got strength. All right, let's get some drinking here. Oh, my God. It doesn't even come out.

01:02:34 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 2:

He pouring a double shot.

01:02:36 - 01:02:39 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Kevin's birthday today.

01:02:39 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Is that the same cup?

01:02:41 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 1:

This is holy water. We're doing some holy water here.

01:02:47 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 2:

You don't? Oh, yeah, no, because you're not drinking. I respect that.

01:02:49 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 1:

All right, yes. Only for Lent. It's Lent. She's giving it up for Lent. It's still Lent? Give one to Shannon. Because she's got a drink and she has enough time to wear off the buzz before she's got to go pick up the kids at school.

01:03:02 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this is a big shot.

01:03:04 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Oh, Louise. So, Kevin. We didn't even rinse this cup off. I want you to know. They're all new cups, aren't they? Oh, no. Yeah, for the kitchen. No, that's part of the tequila. Oh, okay. That's part of the tequila. Josiah's not answering, by the way. to he's not answering josiah answer the damn phone call him up um to uh to kevin who has been with the show now coming up on it will be your second year anniversary right yeah yeah two year anniversary on the show 35 year anniversary on this planet you brighten everybody's day you're a guy that i i swear to you if i don't see a smile on kevin's face i know something's wrong he even smiles when he's sick. It's crazy. I've never seen something like that, but you put more smiles on everybody else, and we love you. God bless you. Happy birthday. Cheers. Lydia said love you, too. Oh, my God. That's awful. That was a big shout. Who gave you that? I think that might have been Louie at the brass mug. That is. Louie, what are you trying to do? Kill us? That's like straight from Mexico tequila right there. All right. Oh, here's what we're going to be doing. So we are going to do a contest, kind of a little contest. I don't even know what the prize is going to be. The prize might be a mystery prize for you. It could be what is in my pocket to a pair of tickets to go see, like, the Tigers play or something like that. Because I want the best ones. I want you to call us up, and a simple question is, what have you done that you know is going to keep you out of heaven? What have you done that you know is going to keep you out of heaven? This morning, if you confess to it, I...

01:05:00 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 5:

I know a guy that can get you into heaven. I'll buy it on StubHub. But I want you to confess to me, the Pope, and I'm going to get you put in heaven, okay? So I want you to know.

01:05:15 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 4:

I love when you wear this outfit.

01:05:16 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 5:

Everybody has something that they've done in their lives that says, oh, God, this is going to keep me out of heaven. I want to know what is yours. Hold on a second here. Why is the Joe show calling up? We're in the middle of the show here. What's up?

01:05:30 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 4:

changed now, right? What's that? I've met him in person several times. Here, hold on. Hey. Hey.

01:05:38 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 3:

Hey, real quick. Is Kev there? What up, bro? I need you to do me a massive favor. And I'll never ask for anything again. And I will owe you after this.

01:05:47 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 6:

Okay, what's going on?

01:05:49 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 3:

Can you follow Jed on Instagram? Because I'm tired of him talking about it every single day. You don't already?

01:05:56 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 4:

I'm not following him. No, he doesn't. Why? It's BS shit, and I love Kev. Oh, my God. I know Kev has noticed this for the last three weeks, but he has been getting commented and tagged by me in every single one of the Mojo in the Morning Facebook or Instagram posts that he collabs with because I'm trying to get his attention. I'm like a needy child over here, Kev. You know what happened to Kev today, right? Happy birthday, by the way. Thank you, bro. I appreciate it.

01:06:20 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 6:

But you know what? Where's the love for me, man? No, happy birthday. I've seen those comments, and I've replied to some. I didn't know I wasn't following you, though.

01:06:28 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that is, come on. We both know that that's not true. And if my head had balls, she'd be my uncle.

01:06:34 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 6:

How do we know? That is such bull crap. Jed, check your most recent followers. This is an easy fix, bro.

01:06:41 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 5:

Wait, I thought you weren't doing it on purpose.

01:06:44 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 6:

I had no idea.

01:06:46 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 5:

Jed, I don't think anybody should be following you. Yes?

01:06:50 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, sorry to step on you. I just wanted to say, because Jed just got this follow, Anyone following Jed, anyone else, unfollow Jed right now. No, stop that killing.

01:07:00 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 4:

Go unfollow Jed right now. I was begging and pleading for Kev's attention for weeks, and I would think that if he would look at my profile and be like, oh, I'm not following him.

01:07:11 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Why do you assume that he would go look at your profile? Yeah, why would you do that? Because I'm tagging him in the comments. How often do you look at Kev's profile that you're thinking he's looking at yours?

01:07:22 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, whenever he collabs with the Mojo account, right, or 955, I automatically assume, okay, if I'm putting it on his page and I'm tagging him, he's going to click on my profile. He's got to.

01:07:38 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 5:

God, Jed is needy. Jed is needy. I'm following you now, bro.

01:07:42 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Why is that noise?

01:07:43 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. All right. That's my pain, Shannon. That's pain leaving my body. We got. Hey, Kev's fine. We did it. It's finally official.

01:07:54 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 6:

It happened. Well, my birthday, I gave you this.

01:07:56 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 5:

You are Instagram official with Kevin today. All right, I got to go because Kevin's son's on the phone to wish him a happy birthday.

01:08:03 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, sorry. Happy birthday, Kev. Hey, see y'all. Appreciate it. Have a blessed day, y'all.

01:08:07 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate it, Jay. Hey, love you, boss. We go from my son to Kev's son. Josiah.

01:08:17 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:08:17 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, it's somebody's birthday today, Josiah.

01:08:22 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 2:

It's my dad.

01:08:23 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. B-I-G. What an amazing dad you have, too, buddy.

01:08:28 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 1:

How are you celebrating your dad this weekend?

01:08:33 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 2:

So, I don't have any money to buy him, I think, or a rope. But I'm just going to spend some extra talent.

01:08:40 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what? That's better than any gift you could spend money on. That's a fact.

01:08:44 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 6:

Anytime Josiah chooses me over Roblox is a great day.

01:08:48 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 5:

That is a great day. That is awesome. And you know what? You may be the greatest artist I've ever seen. You can draw him something nice.

01:08:55 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:08:56 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Josiah, what's your favorite thing about your dad? Because my favorite thing is his smile and his laugh. What's yours?

01:09:07 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 2:

The way we get to watch. the way how somehow we get to watch movies a lot.

01:09:16 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:09:17 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 2:

But he just picks the best movies.

01:09:19 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 6:

That's right. I'm a movie man.

01:09:21 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 5:

That's cool. I saw you guys going to the Minecraft movie. Did you have fun?

01:09:26 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Did you scream out, Chicken Jockey?

01:09:28 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 2:

Chicken Jockey! I didn't even know that part was coming. I was so confused. That's why nobody can pop on the arcade here.

01:09:36 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 5:

yeah well josiah you you're gonna see your dad later today give him a big old hug and a kiss for his birthday because i'll tell you what that's better than anything you could ever buy him

01:09:47 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 1:

okay love you big i'll see you at the school oh you too okay bye bye joe bye buddy we'll see ya

01:09:55 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

that right there is the best birthday gift you could ever get him telling you bro him telling you

01:10:00 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 3:

If I had money, I'd buy you something. By the way, that continues in their teens, their 20s. A little more show. That's awesome. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. What is it that you've done that you think will keep you out of heaven? This is our Mojo in the Morning confessional. And, boy, I'm telling you what. I'm looking at some of these right now.

01:10:27 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 2:

Are they good?

01:10:27 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know if I can get you into heaven after some of these things. But I'm the Pope this morning, and I'm going to get you in heaven today, okay? Corey, what have you done that will keep you out of heaven? Best one's going to win whatever's in my right pocket. I get high and go to church every Sunday. Oh, you do? Really? You go to church high?

01:10:53 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 1:

You are high as a kite.

01:10:56 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 3:

You know what? But I don't know if God's upset with that. As long as you're attending, I think that's fine. Is church high better? I enjoy it. You don't know any other way. I love it. All right. I do feel like he's talking to me every time I'm in there. Everything's focused toward me. You know what? That's good. I'm sure he is. All right. Hang on one second. That's a good one. Yeah. Let's go to T next for the next confession, okay? So T is next. Voice disguise, T. T?

01:11:37 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:11:38 - 01:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:11:39 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 2:

T? I work in a nursing home, and a quadriplegic would give me $50 to do hand stuff.

01:11:54 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 3:

You know it's my birthday. Oh. Oh, my God. Wait a second. So you had a quadriplegic patient in a nursing home that you were nursing, and he would pay you $50 to take care of things?

01:12:09 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 1:

Yes. You know what? Poor guy. You should have just done it for free.

01:12:14 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:12:15 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 3:

That is mean, Shannon. This is, you know, God would be fine with you at least making money. How much do you think you made?

01:12:24 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 2:

I did it quite often.

01:12:26 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I mean, but do you feel like you were doing God's work by doing this work?

01:12:33 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 1:

Did you say you wrote it off on your taxes? No, I didn't. Oh, my God.

01:12:38 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. All right. Well, that's an interesting one, too. Hold on one second. These are all pretty good. Those hands just aren't for praying. Hey, come on. All right. What is it that you've done that will keep you out of heaven? Let's go to Ryan next. Hi, Ryan.

01:12:55 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 4:

Hey, hey, hey. What's up? I need your help, Pope.

01:12:58 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 3:

Yes, go ahead. I'm right here. Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. Go ahead, son.

01:13:02 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, happy birthday, Kev, first. Free city.

01:13:05 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:13:06 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 4:

So, I was 14 at the time. I was at my friend's house. Her father was a priest, and they had their church on the property as well. And we actually went to the church basement, and I lost my virginity that night. Oh, my gosh. Ooh.

01:13:26 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

it's pretty awkward oh my god to the girl the the is that the pastor's daughter oh yeah wow so you you and the pastor's daughter did it in the church basement what kind of church we talking about is this like a non-denominational or baptist or what is this there was a lutheran church lutheran church god love the lutherans that's amazing love all right well you uh hold on a second you go and do like 28 hail marys and uh you'll get back into heaven we'll figure that out you might you might get what's in my right pocket uh talk about communion yes you're gonna say i'm all up today i'll let you because it's your birthday stella hi how are you it's uh mojo and oh hey stella stella is the stella's on the phone Stella, what did you do?

01:14:25 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Good morning. So I dressed up as Mother Teresa for a Halloween party. I had all the things going on. I looked just like her, a latex piece on my face. No one knew who I was. Yeah. Equipped with my long pantyhose titties hanging out of my head. Oh, yeah.

01:14:48 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 3:

You cannot say that when talking about Mother Teresa, God rest her soul. She's a saint.

01:15:02 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 1:

She's been canonized as a saint.

01:15:03 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Stella. Stella, you're not going to heaven. You're not going to heaven.

01:15:07 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 1:

And no one knew who I was until I sang karaoke. Oh, my God. Yeah, because I was revealed. You got to put those things away. What song did you sing, Mother Teresa? What do you think? Amazing Grace. Come on.

01:15:25 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. These are great. These are all really good. Ooh, voice disguise initial A. Hi, A.

01:15:36 - 01:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Pope Mojo.

01:15:38 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 3:

How are you, my child? Tell us your confession.

01:15:42 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 1:

Bringing up bad memories. 20 years ago, well, actually, I was 20 years old. It was like 35 years ago. I had an affair with my best friend's fiance.

01:15:57 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 3:

Ooh. And does your best friend know that you had an affair with their fiance?

01:16:04 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. Are they still married? Never. They're not married. They ended up breaking up.

01:16:12 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 3:

And it wasn't, was it because of you?

01:16:15 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 1:

I don't, I don't know. I have no idea. Nothing was ever said to me. And you're still, you're still best friends with her. And I was going to go to my grave with this. This is the first time I've ever said anything about it.

01:16:26 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, I feel honored. You know what? We're getting you back in heaven just for that. The fact that you finally confessed to it. That's what religion is. If you confess that you did something, God forgives. Okay? Thank you, Pope Mojo. Tis the season. This is the season for this thing. Hold on one second. Actually, God forgives, except for T, are you still there with us?

01:16:49 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I am.

01:16:50 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if God's going to forgive the fact that you're giving handies to a quadriplegic man. But hold on one second still, okay? Will you hang on one second? Laying hands on people, you know? All right.

01:17:03 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 2:

All right, question for you guys.

01:17:09 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Which one of these ones have you liked so far?

01:17:11 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's the Handy. I mean, the Handy's one. You think so? That's a good one?

01:17:14 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 3:

That's the best one of them all? Do I take one last one? Yes, please. One last one. Lydia, do I do line one, or will that just kill the mood?

01:17:23 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

It might kill the mood, I think.

01:17:24 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 3:

I think it will kill the mood. We'll do two then. So do two then? No, I'm saying one. I'm saying line one on that one. No, I'm saying take two more callers. Start with line one. Oh, no, I can't. I don't know. Really? Yes. No, if you think it's going to kill the mood, maybe a second. I think it's going to kill the mood. The mood has been, no, the mood has been too good. Now we want to know. All right, Anthony. Anthony, I'll let you be on. What's up, Anthony? Are you there?

01:17:45 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Mojo, in the morning. Good morning.

01:17:48 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. It's Father Mojo to you.

01:17:51 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, how you do today? I do today.

01:17:54 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 3:

Why do I sound like I'm – I don't think that's what the Pope sounds like. But go ahead.

01:18:00 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we got to get Friday kicked off right.

01:18:02 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 3:

Okay, go ahead.

01:18:03 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 2:

So about 10 years ago, at Meijer, JBL speaker, I rang up as Bananas and paid 76 cents.

01:18:13 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 3:

You know what? We'll end on that note there.

01:18:17 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Saved $140. No big deal. That was the B in JBL. That was – Hey, it was a great speaker.

01:18:26 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

Hey, real quick, do you want to say hi to the quadriplegic handjob girl? Hold on a second. Her name is T, and T is the winner. Congratulations, T. T, you get what's in my right pocket here. What's in my right pocket? Hold on. We're going to pull it out. We're going to pull it out here right now. Hold on. Ooh. Money. I got money in my pocket. Uh-oh. It's cheating. Are you ready? $20. I got $20 for you, T. You're a winner. That's fine. $20. Right here. Give her $20. $30 short of the paraplegic. Oh, my God. Hold on. Hold on. I actually have money in the other hand. I have money. Good morning. Mojo in the morning show. Good to have you guys here with us. Today is a big day. It is Kevin's birthday. And in honor of Kevin's birthday, we have some special guests that are going to be joining the show today. Lydia made it such a great birthday for Kevin and gave him a birthday-themed party here today, which is interesting because sometimes when you're a kid, you would have your Star Wars party or you'd have frozen parties for your kids or something like that. I remember as a kid I always had Batman parties that was always mine My Little Pony Me too also That was one My family would always do it, and we always would go to Friendly's and get ice cream and stuff. Have you ever been to a Friendly's before? I've never heard of a Friendly's. Oh, my God. Friendly's was the greatest.

01:20:11 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if they're around. There might be like one or two.

01:20:13 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 3:

By the way, did you see, on a totally side note, before I get to Kev's special guest that's going to be joining us, did you see that Carvel, you've heard of Carvel, right? I haven't. Carvel is an ice cream place. They're known for their Carvel cakes. and Cinnabon have combined powers together to do a Carvel Cinnabon stores and they're doing Carvel Cinnabon ice cream Cinnabon treats.

01:20:38 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 1:

They're opening one in Troy.

01:20:39 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 3:

Are they really?

01:20:40 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 1:

Right next to Somerset, yeah.

01:20:41 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 3:

Do you know how much-

01:20:42 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 1:

I keep driving past it and I see the big sign, but I don't think they've opened yet.

01:20:45 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 3:

Do you know how much calories are going to go into that store? Like just alone, driving by that store is going to put cellulite on your body.

01:20:52 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 1:

Carvel is big with celebrities, right? Don't they give celebrities a card?

01:20:56 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 3:

I think so.

01:20:57 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Like a gold card or something that they can go in and get anything they want anytime. Put that in sports terms.

01:21:03 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 4:

Carvel and Cinnabon merging together is like what?

01:21:06 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 3:

It's Carvel and Cinnabon together is like LeBron teaming up with Luka Doncic.

01:21:14 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay. When was the last time you guys had a Cinnabon?

01:21:16 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. I just want this. Honestly, I want the frosting. The middle part.

01:21:21 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

Once you got to the middle.

01:21:22 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 3:

Would you ever peel them apart and unlayer them?

01:21:25 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm a weirdo, and you're going to make fun of me for how I ate them. I cut them with a fork and a knife. What?

01:21:30 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 3:

I know. You would eat them with a fork and a knife? Because they're so gooey. I hate that. Bougie.

01:21:34 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 4:

You got to get it in your nails. Yes.

01:21:40 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, here's the deal. We have a special guest for Kevin on his birthday. I'm nervous. Lydia did a themed party for you, which is really nice. Your theme party this year is Make Birthdays Great Again Party. And it is a President Donald Trump-themed birthday party that she's thrown for you. Lydia does not know me. I think she knows that you are somebody that likes to just make things great. And so she figured, you know, there's going to be a tariff-free birthday for you here today. And on the phone with us. This is great because it's going to make... You sure it's not your birthday? It's going to bring out the angry texters again that are going to say that we're brought to you by Fox News. Please welcome, ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump is on the show. Good morning, good morning.

01:22:33 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, happy birthday to you. You make the Pistons play better, too. Happy birthday, dear Kev. He's my favorite hype man. Thank you so much. It doesn't have to rhyme. When you're the president, it doesn't have to rhyme. It doesn't have to rhyme.

01:22:52 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Mr. President.

01:22:54 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 2:

You've been doing a tremendous job, I have to say, Kev. I mean, they beat the Knicks last night.

01:22:58 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 4:

That's a fact. Listen, Mr. President, if I could ask for one thing for my birthday, it is for you to buy me a cake and I want Ivanka to pop out of you.

01:23:09 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, there you go. Okay, I'm not going to blame you there. She's the hottest one of my daughters. She really is President Trump I know Kevin puts a smile How is everybody in MAGA Nation, Mojo?

01:23:26 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 3:

We got a cake A cake's coming in the studio right now

01:23:31 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Do you see the pictures on the cake?

01:23:33 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 3:

What are the pictures? This is my favorite one What is that? What do you got there?

01:23:36 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 2:

Look at that one

01:23:37 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god

01:23:38 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 2:

You got the gold Trump sneakers on top Or what?

01:23:41 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 3:

He's got a little truffle butter on here

01:23:43 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Lydia.

01:23:48 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 3:

President Trump, you have signed.

01:23:49 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 2:

Is it orange frosting?

01:23:52 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 3:

You have signed so many different new, like, proclamations or whatever.

01:23:57 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 2:

Executive orders, a lot of them.

01:23:59 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 3:

Can you make an executive order for Kev? Like, can we do something for him?

01:24:03 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to sign an executive order that makes Kev the best person in the world today. Oh, that's great. Thank you. How about that?

01:24:11 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is when you can't think of anything, Eric, and you just struggle. You just struggle. That was great.

01:24:20 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 2:

Be careful. I'm going to slap it. You know what? He's got to deal with all these hysterical women every morning.

01:24:26 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:24:26 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 2:

So, Kevin, he's doing a hell of a job holding it together.

01:24:30 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 3:

He is.

01:24:31 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 2:

He really is. Thank you.

01:24:33 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 3:

He's struggling this week, though, because Megan is not here for him. And I think that that's been a tough week for him. Megan took the week off.

01:24:41 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 2:

Please tell me she's not doing the surgery. She is not. No, there's no surgery. What surgery, sir? What surgery? Nothing, nothing.

01:24:51 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

No, there's no surgery going on. Actually, I think she's helping a family member move this week. She's helping a family member. She's the only person I know. She's the only person I know.

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 5:

So that the only family member with a truck.

01:25:04 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 3:

That's what I think it is. She's the only person I know that takes a week off and has to like do something for a family member like that. She needs like a nice vacation or something when she's going away.

01:25:14 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 5:

That's dedication. Send her to beaches or something.

01:25:17 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 3:

I know. We got to do something for her. Can you deport her to a nice foreign?

01:25:23 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 4:

We're going to deport her? To Cabo.

01:25:26 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of that, speaking of that, hold on a second. Hold on.

01:25:28 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 4:

This is Donald Trump And while we're deporting people Kev, be careful We might deport you right back to the LCA To just be the Pistons announcer Watch out

01:25:42 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Alright, Eric, it's great to have you

01:25:44 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 5:

I have it in my authority It's great to have you on

01:25:46 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 3:

I know Kevin's loving this But we actually do have some special guests for Kevin I'm nervous, I'm nervous

01:25:51 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 5:

I hope you have a wonderful birthday And don't do anything illegal Because we got everybody watching Eyes on the ground.

01:25:59 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Watch out. Pam Bondi will come after him, won't she? That's right. All right. We'll talk to you later, Eric. I love you, buddy.

01:26:06 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Later, guys. Bye, Eric. Appreciate you, man. Have a blessed day. We'll talk to you.

01:26:09 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 7:

Kev's comments are now classified as illegal imports in Windsor. Thanks a lot, government officials. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:26:15 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Kevin. Kevin, it's been such a good day with you.

01:26:18 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. It's just getting started.

01:26:20 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 3:

It is just getting started. Explain what that is on your cake.

01:26:24 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 2:

What is the cake? There are ass emojis with a cell phone between the cheeks, and there's a person calling, and the name on it is Lydia. How do you get a person to make a cake like that for you?

01:26:38 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 3:

You've got to be doing the right things. Only the executive producer of this radio show can get a booty cake for Kev.

01:26:46 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 1:

I've got Lucy's birthday party tonight. Give me a hug.

01:26:49 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, hold on.

01:26:50 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine?

01:26:51 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 3:

Cav, your sister is on the phone. What's up, Lynn?

01:26:57 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 6:

01:27:16 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 3:

That is a beautiful voice. Smaka-laka-gee.

01:27:19 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 6:

Happy birthday, Mr. President. We're having casting auditions Oh my god, no we are not Wait, what is she doing?

01:27:28 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

01:27:40 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 6:

I need 35 bad bitches Oh my god, I like that idea Let's put that together 35 Melinda, that's a wonderful idea We need them.

01:27:52 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 3:

01:27:59 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:28:01 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to give you a chance to win in our Find the Fob contest brought to you by Moran Automotive. Be the 95th caller at 844-MOJO-LIVE. If you find the fob in the car, you could win it. Or $25,000 cash, call 844-MOJO-LIVE. Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30.

01:28:17 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 1:

Super quick story to start off the dirty because I don't have any other details except for Kanye has been banned from X. Has he really? He's done. You know what?

01:28:25 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 3:

Now. For now.

01:28:26 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 2:

When's the last time that that's happened? I will say, this is kind of what he wanted. Some of those tweets, he said, how long will it take me to get banned?

01:28:34 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

But what is his reasoning for wanting to be banned? Is it just to give him a little bit more notoriety or something? Or what? Or is he? Like, some people just give up social media for Lent, you know? Not just make crazy comments.

01:28:50 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 2:

I think we are all aware that Kanye loves the attention.

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:28:54 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

And if you missed last hour's Dirty Taylor Swift, supposedly her team sending a cease and desist to Kanye because of what he was tweeting about the night before last. Wow. Another big Dirty today. Justin Bieber says he broke ties with his Drew House fashion brand. If you remember this brand, it's got the signature yellow smiley face. Launched it back in 2019 with his best buddy, Ryan Good. and I don't so I don't know what happened there I saw this post on his Instagram stories it has since been deleted but it was written over a screenshot of a post that Drew House had up on Instagram and it said I Justin Bieber I'm no longer involved in this brand Drew House doesn't represent me or my family or my life if you're rocking with me the human Justin Bieber don't waste your money on Drew House and if you follow Bieber on social media you remember I think it was just last week he shared this ai like animated video of him entering a house filled with drew house stuff lighting a match setting it on fire and then running outside to join hayley and baby jack outside wow so

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 3:

So, like, something happened there.

01:30:02 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 1:

Anybody do anything with Drew House at all? Like, that's one of those. Out of all the celebrity brands, I really never knew much about Drew House.

01:30:11 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I saw a ton of people wearing it.

01:30:13 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 1:

Did you?

01:30:14 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

I feel like Lydia knows the most about it.

01:30:16 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 1:

She's the Bieber? Yeah. The Belieber?

01:30:19 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 3:

Some sad news. If you are a Grey's Anatomy or Euphoria fan, Eric Dane, he was, remember, McSteamy on Grey's Anatomy, plays Cal on euphoria, has been diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease, sharing that diagnosis publicly with People magazine. And he said, look, I'm going to battle. And his his diagnosis has has not and will not impact his plans to return to euphoria for season three. In fact, he said he will be on set shooting with Sidney Sweeney and Zendaya and the whole crew in the next couple of

01:30:51 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 2:

days that's good to know this his storyline is crazy in that show if you've never seen it if you have you know exactly what i'm talking about but we need him in that show and preferably he's you

01:31:01 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 3:

know he's healthy and he's getting better yeah and lastly former new england patriots uh former new england patriots coach there we go bill belichick his 24 year old girlfriend jordan hudson announced she is going to be representing the state of maine in the 2025 miss maine usa It's a pageant, which is set to take place on May 10th. So she was born in a little town called Hank Hatch Point.

01:31:29 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 1:

Oldest coach in NFL history to win a Super Bowl.

01:31:32 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and her platform is going to be protecting the fleeting tradition and heritage of Maine fishing families, which her dad was big fisherman.

01:31:40 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 1:

Will he be there front row cheering her on?

01:31:43 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if you remember this, but they dressed up as a fish and fisherman for Halloween last year. And I never could figure out why. So obviously this is the reason why, but for all of today's dirty catch up by checking out the podcast, search Mojo in the morning in the free iHeartRadio app. Be back with a winner next.

01:31:58 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 1:

Miss something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com. Um, Lydia, Lydia, Lydia. Will you do me a favor, Lydia? Will you call? Can you call my wife real quick? So my wife sent me a group of text messages while we were in the midst of doing the throwback. And they're very concerning to me.

01:32:26 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 2:

Is she okay?

01:32:26 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 1:

Because I thought at first she was joking, but I don't think she is. So she's out of town. So she's not here in town. So I was a bachelor last night. I was sleeping by myself. I actually shouldn't say that. I was by myself last night.

01:32:38 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 2:

You got to rephrase, brother.

01:32:39 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 1:

So I got a text message from her just a little bit ago. And it said in the text message, who slept on my side of the bed last night?

01:32:49 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 3:

What?

01:32:49 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 1:

Check this out. First off, I didn't even know that she has this. But this is something that if your spouse has it, you're going to get yourself in trouble. She has a, it says here, she has a mattress topper. My mattress topper measured someone sleeping in my bed. Wow. Hold on a second here. I did not know that. And she sent me. What? Chelsea. yeah so explain to me this mattress topper thing so you sent me this thing my mattress topper measured somebody sleeping in my bed and then it shows you it says good morning chelsea metrics sleep fitness score 41 sleep time four hours four minutes yeah whoever slept whoever

01:33:33 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 4:

slept on my side of the bed got really crappy sleep i feel sorry for them well you know what

01:33:38 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 1:

you know what was going on on that side of the bed we weren't sleeping wait what is this mattress i'm not even gonna joke about this what is a mattress topper what is i like what explain this to me

01:33:54 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 4:

by definition is something that you put on top of a

01:33:57 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 1:

simplicity is genius no but i i didn't first off i didn't even know that your mattress topper can can check this and first off if you want to know if there's anybody sleeping on that side of the bed we got ring cameras all over that entire house you can look all over and see i'm not

01:34:14 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 4:

i'm not checking the ring cameras i've got a better detective it's in my bed it's my mattress

01:34:21 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 1:

that is so crazy yeah your mattress i never knew you had something that detects your man

01:34:26 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 4:

the mattress supposed to know sir i have so much that you don't know about really

01:34:32 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 1:

because that's that that makes me worried because now you know exactly what kind of porn i look at okay gross well how is that wait what's what's interesting because i always in

01:34:46 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

the morning it will always give me a sleep report which is always inaccurate but it gives me my sleep report and funny enough it has not given me a sleep report since the last time i slept in it so when i got the text this morning Thank you very much.

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 5:

I thought, huh. Wow. Were you just rolling around all over the place? Well, we have separate mattresses.

01:35:08 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

So we have one of those mattresses that splits and you can move the beds up and down on each side? Okay. It's like a...

01:35:15 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. We got that when he had his open heart surgery. So my mattress is firmer and it's taller. So there is no rolling around.

01:35:24 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 1:

You don't ever...

01:35:26 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 5:

So what the heck happened?

01:35:28 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. But I'm being accused of cheating. This is interesting.

01:35:33 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, please. I just want to send her a sympathy card if that's all right.

01:35:38 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing I wanted to ask to our listeners. Who is it that found out that their spouse had something that can detect that they were doing something? Because the only thing I've ever known is we have the find my iPhone things where we're sharing locations. But I never knew that she had this thing. And that actually is very interesting. This is very sneaky. So if I was, that would actually be very weird to know that you could actually get that detection.

01:36:08 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:36:08 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 1:

And if you're somebody listening and you're worried that your spouse does this.

01:36:11 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, as everybody runs out to buy this.

01:36:12 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 1:

I would go and get that thing. That's actually not bad. Google is going crazy right now.

01:36:17 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 2:

Just wash my sheets before I go.

01:36:20 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of wild. I never knew that. That's kind of interesting. It's a detective's dream

01:36:29 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 4:

I've got a lot of things at my sleeve

01:36:31 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 1:

01:36:36 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 4:

01:36:52 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 5:

Hey Kev

01:36:52 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 1:

Yo

01:36:53 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 5:

Happy birthday

01:36:55 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love you Thank you, Kevin.

01:36:59 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 5:

I love you, too. I hope you have the best day ever.

01:37:02 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate you. I intend to, for sure. Charles, if you could see him right now, I can't even take him seriously. He's wearing, on top of his hat, he has a big photo of an animated Lydia booty wearing a thong. With her name on it. This is an exact replica.

01:37:17 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Charles, what do you think about this? I know that you shooed away Steve Gabara from Lydia. Are you shooing away Kevin from Lydia, too? no i say go for it really you think you think you think lydia and kev would be a good couple

01:37:37 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 4:

yeah wow that's interesting they both love god they you know they're both beautiful people

01:37:47 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 1:

chelsea's smart wow yeah you want to bring lydia over and try my my wife's mattress wait wait hold on hold on sasha wants to make a comment about you chelsea sasha what'd you want

01:37:59 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

to say i love chelsea but whenever you call her she just sounds so over your stuff she's just like seriously she's like a mattress topper um but that's my husband he always creeps on our

01:38:13 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 1:

cameras wait your husband creeps on the cameras when you're at home yeah he's deployed right now

01:38:19 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 3:

01:38:22 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Desiree?

01:38:55 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I think Mojo's hooking up with the girlfriends of the past, maybe the ghosts.

01:39:00 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's interesting. I jokingly said to Chelsea, maybe there's a ghost in the house, but I wonder if that's the case. You know what I mean? Do the ghost of your bad girlfriends or the bad girls come back in your night's sleep? The ghost of Tracy Rosenak.

01:39:17 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

something did set it off though like i kind of want to know how the heck that happened i'm

01:39:25 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

gonna go home and i'm gonna look at the bed and i'm gonna see exactly what the sheets look like because i wonder if i did have like a pretty active night i do know this can i tell you something chelsea and i'm being 100% honest i woke up with a stiff neck so i did you know what You got the worst jokes ever. I woke up with a stiff neck this morning, so I didn't know how I was sleeping. So that was kind of weird, too. It was probably your leg. You think? You know what I mean? You probably stretched out, and your leg was on the edge. My leg is that heavy to seem like a detective. My leg is not. What's this?

01:40:00 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 3:

He said it was only like 40%.

01:40:01 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. All right, Chalice. I'll talk to you later. I love you.

01:40:08 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay, love you too. Bye.

01:40:09 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 2:

Where are you at? Are you at Starbucks?

01:40:12 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 1:

Car wash.

01:40:13 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're at the car wash. All right. I'll talk to you later. All right. Bye.

01:40:17 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

01:40:33 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo in the Morning. So Kevin's birthday is this weekend. Kevin's doing something for his birthday that he's got a feeling could be the worst trip ever.

01:40:45 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, not trip as in me going to a different location, but trip as in getting high and having a bad experience. Oh, really? So I haven't smoked in a very, very, very, very long time. But you used to smoke a lot, right? I used to smoke a lot. A lot of weed was consumed in my early, mid-20s. And then I cut it off because I started to get paranoid a lot. The experiences that I used to have when high were extremely fun, and then slowly but surely it decreased, and it started to be bad experiences to the point where I'm like, I just need to stop. But I'm going to Denver, Colorado. and Denver, Colorado for many, many years was like the first place in America that like legalized marijuana. This was the place to go. This was the garden of Eden, so to speak for weed smokers. And all of my friends who were my friends then are still my friends today and they still smoke weed. So when we decided to go to Denver, they like, hell yeah, this pre-420 weekend, like we about to go crazy. I, on the other hand, only wanted to go because I wanted to see mountains and I wanted to see God's green earth. Really? Yeah. You wanted to sightsee more so than smoke. Exactly. But I'm thinking, I'm there. I kind of want to hike. How cool will it be just to roll up a J, smoke real quick somewhere in the mountains and just absorb that amazing view and scenery? But in my mind, I'm thinking like, bro, you ain't smoked in so long, this might be a bad trip. And it could ruin your trip. It could ruin it. And that's not what I'm trying to do. But it is Denver, Colorado. What if I just hit the blunt once? Can't you just take an edible instead? Edibles, I don't mess with those. You can't control that high. Really? You on the rise.

01:42:25 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 1:

So you're not an edible guy. No, I'm not doing that.

01:42:27 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't know because I don't smoke a lot of weed or I'm not a big user. I didn't know that. So smoking, you can control your high.

01:42:38 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 3:

I feel as though if I roll a blunt or a joint or a blunt, whatever you do, you can control how many times you hit it. So if I go, you know what I'm saying, chill, then I can say, okay, I'm good now. But if I bite a cookie or brownie or whatever, how much weed is in there? But you get a gummy, you know how much weed is in it. But I feel like when I've had edibles, you got to just ride that ride. And that ride can last all day, even the next day.

01:43:02 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. By the way, I don't like the idea that you're going to go try. First off, when's the last time you've actually done anything physical in your life?

01:43:10 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

Physical?

01:43:10 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Besides. You're really having a physical. Actually, you're going to go climb. He's going to go hiking and do it high.

01:43:19 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm not doing Weston Shannon type hiking. I'm just going on a little Belle Isle trail. I ain't trying to do nothing crazy.

01:43:24 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 2:

So you're just going to go up and you're going to look at the mountains and then kind of do it.

01:43:28 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 3:

Go to Red Racks.

01:43:29 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 2:

Is that close to staying in downtown Denver? Yeah. Is it? The last time I was in Denver, I took Luke to a Rockies game to go see DJ LeMayhew play baseball. and we saw guys crapping on the streets. What? Downtown Denver is a wild place. For real? Yeah, like all of a sudden some guy's like popping a squat and taking a dump right out of the streets.

01:43:53 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 3:

That's a different kind of Red Rock. Let's see what I'm trying to see those.

01:43:56 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. What's the topic on this one? Are we doing it?

01:44:03 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 3:

I mean, what's your worst high experience? Worst high experience? I've been in cars before and I've had that moment where I'm like, Lord, I swear to God, if you make this high go away, I'd never smoke again. Like, I've been in those moments where it's just been too hot.

01:44:16 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, worst high experience. We want to hear your worst high experience, 844 Mojo Live. Dustin, what's up? How you doing?

01:44:25 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up? What's up? So I went to Denver a couple years ago, and we climbed down a waterfall, but halfway down we stopped and smoked. Well, looking back up, it was really hard to climb back up. were you worried that you're gonna have to like call for help oh no i we just like it took us a lot longer to climb up but we would i would still do it again in a heartbeat it was beautiful yeah

01:44:55 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 2:

i i don't know if i like the idea of cav climbing on a walk by a walk

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 3:

waterfall. Hi. We're not

01:45:01 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 5:

doing that. We're not doing that sober. We need him back safe here, Dustin. I don't like this whole idea of him going up there. It was a lot of fun, though. It was. All right. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate you so much, buddy. Not a problem. Is this thing on? Yeah. Yeah, it is on. Yeah. Ben is on with us right now. Ben, what's going on? How you doing? Hey, how you doing? Worst high experience. Let's hear it.

01:45:27 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 3:

The speaker. Oh, my goodness. um now i was in a bad car wreck and going through a lot of things and hadn't smoked in forever and we were sitting at my property and my friend comes up he goes hey i got one so we sit down smoke this thing and i swear it was like watching mosquitoes coming by just looking at you going you all right dude you all right that's that's when the bug started yeah man but it kept getting worse too that was the problem the frogs were just like staring at you never said a word you can't wait for that oh no no no no it was just dead silence

01:46:18 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 5:

Well, Kev's going to have one of those weekends to celebrate his birthday this weekend.

01:46:23 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 3:

All right. Good luck to you, sir.

01:46:25 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 5:

Make sure you're wearing your medical eyes. We love you, too. We love you, too. Have a great one. I'll tell the frogs you said hi. Tyrone, you were one so high. What happened?

01:46:39 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 4:

I was stuck on the couch for 45 minutes begging my friend for a drink of water and never said a word.

01:46:48 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 5:

Was it inedible or were you smoking?

01:46:52 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 4:

No, we were smoking. That was the last time I smoked, too. Really?

01:46:55 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that funny? That's the last time that I ever did anything was I had one of those moments where I couldn't feel the ground with my feet. It was so bad.

01:47:04 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:47:05 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 5:

That's the worst. Yeah.

01:47:06 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, also, first time, long time. Yeah, Tyrone on the phone.

01:47:10 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 5:

And he's not talking about being high.

01:47:14 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 4:

No, no. Hey, happy birthday, Kevin. Appreciate it.

01:47:17 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 5:

Brian, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Worst high experience that you had?

01:47:23 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it wasn't me. It was actually my wife, a big-time stoner, kind of like Kev said his friends are. I smoke before the gym, before work, when I wake up, pretty much all around. She wanted to eat a little gummy when we went to the gym. When she grabbed the gummy, though, she didn't bite the little corner. She took the whole thing. So as I'm standing at the gym with her and I see her eyes, they just start to gloss. The red starts to come. She starts to panic because she's got the anxiety attack. So we had to leave the gym, drive home, and she is bawling her eyes out with her head between her legs because she cannot stop the spin.

01:47:55 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. That's the worst. When you get high, you start crying so bad.

01:48:01 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and the edibles, like you said, man, they come out of nowhere. I woke up the next day still high after having one. See?

01:48:07 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Elante, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Kev's going to Colorado this weekend to get high.

01:48:15 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 4:

And he should. But don't do it before you get on the plane like I did.

01:48:20 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 5:

Why? What happened on the plane?

01:48:22 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, for one, I ate two edibles and smoked the whole joint before I got on the plane. And I took a spirit flight, and I literally thought I was having a spirit come out of me. I was tripping the whole flight. I think it was the edibles. They were like 20 grammars. They were too strong, and everything was good. Everything takes good. I order like three of those kids' meals on the upstairs for like eight bucks weeks. And the old lady next to me kept telling me I smelled good. And I'm like, I know she smokes a little bit of weed.

01:48:56 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 5:

You know what my favorite is? My favorite is when you're flying high and you see a person that you know is high and they're looking. And all the time you're looking at them going, are they going to cause a scene? Like I keep waiting for somebody to get up and all of a sudden like start, you know, screaming.

01:49:10 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 3:

Especially in the spirit light. Yes. Final destination.

01:49:13 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 5:

Moe, this is a great one. Moe, you were once so high. What happened?

01:49:18 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 2:

I watched Bad Boys 2 about 75% of the way through, realizing I was watching it in Spanish. I was like, why can't I understand? Like, I've seen the movie so many times. Why can't I understand it? And I was like, oh, my God, it's been in Spanish the whole time. You know how high you have to be to do that?

01:49:43 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. Sierra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:49:47 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, y'all. Good morning. Good morning. So I take edibles. That's my thing. So before I take edibles, I like to have my munchies. And I went to Walmart, and my edible kicked in while I was at Walmart. And when I was leaving, I had to come home.

01:50:00 - 01:50:09 | Speaker 5:

I was at the wrong freaking car, and I was standing there for, like, 30 minutes trying to figure out why I can't get in my car until the person, they walked up, and they're like, so what are you doing?

01:50:09 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 6:

And I'm like, this is my car, I can't get in, and they're like, no, it's not, and I'm like, what the fuck?

01:50:17 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 2:

The crazy lady at Walmart. Becca, you once got so high, you took off your clothes. What happened?

01:50:24 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I ate a homemade brownie, and I didn't know how much to take. And I like this was like when I just started dabbling in it and I ate like half the brownie and I was so high. I just stripped naked and I made myself six peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because I got the munchies. I took a bite of one, passed out on the couch, woke up, like was laughing at myself and then like shushing myself because I was like, don't be too loud in your own apartment. It was a mess. And then I woke up the next morning, and I was so high as hell. Like, I don't know how much weed was in that brownie, but it was rough.

01:51:02 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 2:

I love that you made six peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Allie, you once got so high. What did you do?

01:51:10 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 5:

So I ate an edible one time, and I'm used to smoking. I know it was like my normal dosage or whatever, but there must have been something wrong with these. because I literally got so high, I, like, almost passed out. I thought I was going to pass out. I thought I was going to have to call 911. My husband wasn't home, so I called my mother-in-law. She came over, and I was just so high on my couch for hours, and then I ate a big bowl of cereal and sent her home.

01:51:34 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. What did your mother-in-law think about you being high?

01:51:38 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she thought it was hilarious. My whole family grows, and we're all smokers. Oh, okay, so it's normal. We're doing edibles together.

01:51:44 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:51:44 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was really funny.

01:51:46 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. i'm worried about kevin going in the mountains and hiking and stuff and then sam's on the phone

01:51:50 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 4:

here what did you do when you were high uh okay so my husband's boyfriend at the time took me on vacation to myrtle beach and i had never been parisailing and um so we went out to the parking garage and we did our thing for the about 20 minutes and then we decided to go parisailing and that was probably the worst mistake that i ever made in my entire life oh my god it was terrifying so what i thought was coke cans like coca-cola cans floating in the ocean oh no those were jellyfish oh no wow yeah and then they proceeded to dip us down into the water and i'm like no there's jellyfish no there's jellyfish i was high as a mother oh my gosh it was so much

01:52:30 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 2:

fun though by the way sex high is not good for me i'm not good with yeah no me either

01:52:36 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 4:

Some people say it heightens certain senses, though.

01:52:40 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. Melissa, this is funny. Melissa, you once got so high. What did you do?

01:52:46 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I took an edible. I was, like, 17, and I was so scared that my dad was going to find out. So we have a community pool in our town, and there's, like, a session from, like, noon to 5. So I walked there because we lived really close, and I literally all I remember is I had to be floating on my back for the whole five hours until they kicked me out and said that they were closing. So then I went home, and I was still hiding from him. And we actually had just got back from a mission trip in New Orleans, and we went fishing and got a bunch of fish and shrimp. And my dad had been cooking it up for months. And he was cooking it, and it smelled so good. I was so hungry, but I was so scared for him to know. So I was just hiding in my room, and I was high the whole day. Like Cass said, you can't control it.

01:53:26 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 2:

The people that are at the community pool watching you just laying on your back for five hours.

01:53:32 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 3:

I know they were. I know they were. but I don't remember. I know I remember being on my back, but I remember a worker saying, hey, it's closed. Everybody's getting out. You got to go. And I just know I was floating on my back.

01:53:43 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 2:

How wrinkly was your butt after that? That'd be like.

01:53:46 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 3:

I was just so worried. I was so worried about my dad catching me. So like I said, I hid in my room and I was just sitting there like crying like God, like Kevin said, God, I'll never do this again. I promise. He takes us away.

01:53:57 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. All right. Well, good luck and be careful. We need to have somebody follow his phone, by the way, just yes he's he's in the he's in the middle of somewhere right now and we can't find him right all right it's mojo in the morning dirty coming up in a little bit wore the roses second date update this is your home of that uh shannon you found out some information about somebody that you know that i wish i didn't know now you'll never be able to look at them the same anymore

01:54:26 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

and i'm not okay let me tell you what happened first so i got a text from somebody that i know yesterday about a mutual friend that we both know a mutual person I should say that we both know and the text said just ran into and they said the name of a person who told me that the person that we both know hit her up for a hookup recently and this guy that he's speaking of is married one two never would have guessed that I would ever get a text about him like this like

01:54:59 - 01:55:01 | Unknown:

You

01:55:00 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 1:

Like he's in my, from all of my times that I've ever like met this person, it just does not seem like that kind of guy to me. And now I'm like, I wish I didn't know this information because like you said, now I think of him very, very differently and I'm not close enough to the situation, to either person involved in this situation to say anything or do anything. It's not like that.

01:55:22 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 3:

Pull back for one second. So a person that you know, it's a girl that you know, you're saying?

01:55:28 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:55:29 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

That girl that you know said, I got a text from a guy that you also know.

01:55:36 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 1:

No, she ran into somebody that she used to work with who said that this guy that we both know hit her up for a hookup.

01:55:47 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 3:

How did they come about meeting each other? Were they just out drinking some night or what were they doing?

01:55:53 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

She just said, I just ran into this person. So I don't know. I don't know any of the details. She just sent me that text message, and I was like, it was one of those situations where you're like, no.

01:56:01 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 3:

And the guy's married?

01:56:03 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 1:

Married, yep.

01:56:04 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 3:

And has kids?

01:56:05 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:56:06 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, do you know anything about their marriage at all or anything like that, or no?

01:56:14 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 1:

No, not really.

01:56:15 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. See, that's a great question. Here's why. I've been in a situation where I've been out with a group of people and have seen a man acting to what I would determine to be inappropriate with another female that wasn't his wife.

01:56:30 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 3:

You said you were never going to tell the story on the radio.

01:56:33 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

I didn't tell you this.

01:56:34 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm joking.

01:56:36 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 2:

And when I approached said person about it, because it made me feel uncomfortable, I know the family, that whole thing, And I was unaware that he and his wife had a certain situation set up. So it wasn't like he was acting inappropriate to people who weren't involved and aware of their agreement and looked inappropriate.

01:56:58 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 1:

That would very much surprise me if that were the situation.

01:57:01 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 3:

Everybody says they have these open marriages. I think that that's BS. Do we lie? Yeah. That's a great way to get out of it. By the way, we're in an open marriage. You ask her if she thinks it's open. How open it is. I go back to your your situation I think that the problem that you got now with this is that you got intel and I don't know what your relationship is I never see this person okay then you're good then I would honestly move on because no because if it's somebody like that you are

01:57:30 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 1:

you know should I see this person now I'm like that's all you think about for sure yes can I

01:57:36 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

can I tell you that I've I've been in your situation Shannon that you're in right now a bajillion times and the bajillion times that it's been been in that situation I always feel like the person that is the the guy or the girl that is the the cheater they you think are not doing something you know you then go oh okay now I'm gonna go back and go yeah I could kind of see

01:58:02 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 1:

that person doing it like if you go back and look at it but I can't really thing I can't that's why It blew me away.

01:58:08 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 3:

Like, there's somebody that I knew that was in, like, a freaking relationship for a while with another person. Like, literally. And they would go out and about. And they would go and see each other and go out and about. And then they would be out in social media with each other, but not on this person's social media, but on the other person's social media. But the spouse never saw anything because they weren't friends. There was no mutual friendship thing that was going on.

01:58:36 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of crazy.

01:58:37 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. um man why did your friend tell you though this is the thing that's because it was probably eating

01:58:43 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 1:

her up huh um i think it's just one of those things that you fall into that information and you yourself can't believe it so you got to share it with somebody you know somebody else who is not close to the situation but knows of this person is she gonna act on it or no she's not

01:58:59 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 3:

going no nope is she gonna say anything when she say act on it there's twofold one is are you gonna act on it and have the relationship or the affair act other act on it is would you call that person's spouse up right have you ever you have got you have had to have been in your life hit on by a married guy have you ever been hit on by a married guy that you've wanted to call their spouse

01:59:22 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 1:

um no no i don't think so oh see that's what i need to hear that's deep right there thank god

01:59:32 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 2:

If I'm married, there's no way I can hit on somebody. It's hell no.

01:59:37 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 3:

If you're married, you're not going to hit on anybody.

01:59:39 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 2:

Bro, you can't. Not if you want to keep your family.

01:59:41 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 3:

Let me just say this to you, Mr. I flirt with everybody.

01:59:45 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 2:

As a single man, make sure you add that in there. We'll see. Mr. Oura Ring. I know. That's Chelsea's mattress stopper.

01:59:53 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

That's Chelsea's mattress stopper. I want to know how this guy was.

02:00:00 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 4:

in a position though like i would like to like i i want there's so many things i want to ask questions about because i want to know like where this guy was in the circumstances where it was that he would actually say to her hey i want to let's let's go hook up let's let's do it like

02:00:15 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 3:

where were there where was their marriage at like what no i want to know like where specifically

02:00:19 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 4:

they were oh like literally physically because i guarantee you i don't know it was that place

02:00:23 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 3:

market in birmingham had a few drinks that place is i swear to god i'm not kidding you when i say

02:00:27 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

I was just reading you the text that I got.

02:00:29 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 4:

I swear to God that I know at least three people that that place was the place that they met people. That or the Daxton Bar. We call that Temptation Island. That is both of those places. I was in the Daxton Bar one time, and I said, I got to get out of here because I just don't want anybody to just assume. I got to get out of here. I just don't want anybody to just assume that that's the reason why I'm there. You'll see by proximity. Right. Like, I'm like going, I got to get the hell out of here. I was with Jeff Sacklin. I'm like, the two of us hanging out together. We look like creepers hanging out of this place. Take me out of here, Jeff. It's over. Get me over to church or something right now. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. This is an interesting question. Shannon knows of this situation. She now can't get it off her chest. Do you agree with me in the fact that the only way she can get this off her chest is she's got to say something? She's got to tell.

02:01:21 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 2:

It's not anybody that I come into contact with frequently whatsoever.

02:01:26 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 3:

I want you to go in another room and call us on voice disguise.

02:01:33 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 2:

And to be fair, I don't even know this person's wife, really. So it's like I'm kind of far removed from the situation in that way. Far enough where I don't feel the need to do that, but it still is, it's weird because it changed my perspective.

02:01:53 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 3:

It would be weird if you did do it, too, being that you're so far removed. Like, who is this lady who don't even know us?

02:01:58 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you what's going to happen to you? Yeah. Because you just found this out, right? This was like.

02:02:02 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 2:

Literally yesterday.

02:02:03 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday. You're going to bump into him and his family over the weekend. It's going to be so awkward. It always happens this way. You end up bumping into, you'll see him holding his little child's hand, walking somewhere with his wife in his, you know, Pacifica minivan.

02:02:21 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 3:

Not the Pacifica.

02:02:22 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

Now I'm telling you, that's what ends up happening. And then you see it and you're like, because you know what it is? I believe it's God's way of saying something to you. You know what I mean? Like, I just don't believe, I don't believe in coincidence. Coincidences don't happen.

02:02:35 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, I really hope that doesn't happen.

02:02:37 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

419 says, Mojo, you are naive. Open marriages are more common than you think. I don't think so. I'm telling you. I keep hearing people say this stuff. I think that somebody in that relationship doesn't want that relationship open. They have got a close sign on it. What's up, Ashley? Hi.

02:02:54 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning. Morning.

02:02:56 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:02:58 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 5:

Not much. Long-time listener. Hey. And when I say long-time listener, I mean back when Joey was on the show. Oh, my God.

02:03:07 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Wasn't that? Yeah. Long-time. Ashley's on the phone.

02:03:11 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 5:

Ashley's on the phone. So I agree with you, Mojo. I think she should say something. Absolutely.

02:03:21 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 4:

I think she should say something on the radio Tuesday morning before the War of the Roses. What do you think?

02:03:29 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I agree.

02:03:30 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 4:

Why do you think she should say something?

02:03:33 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Because, like, so I've been in those situations, and it would just eat me up inside knowing something that I didn't share with somebody. um and i'm a believer like if something's going on you you say something yeah i think that if it

02:03:54 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 2:

was somebody that i saw on a frequent basis it i think that my if it was a friend of yours you would say something a million percent a million percent if it was somebody i even saw on a frequent basis i think it would bother me more um but that is not the case whatsoever here this is

02:04:10 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 4:

a great texter i don't know if lydia are you calling that first texter that's there or can i read it this is a great one hey you hear him yeah oh yeah uh no this is it they called her tina you just sent this text right yes go ahead tell it tell what you text i just said it would be funny

02:04:30 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 1:

if shannon did bump into him and winked at him and said hey i heard you just talked to so-and-so

02:04:36 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 2:

because he's going to know exactly what she means.

02:04:40 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 4:

That would be great.

02:04:41 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I have not run into this person in years. That's like truly how long it's been. So it would be super random if I saw them out and about. You have to understand something. A long shot. And I also hate confrontation. I wouldn't say a damn thing. Yeah.

02:04:54 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

That would be wild though, Tina. And I'm telling you, if you did that, that sends a message to him that you know.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 6:

Because she's probably not the only one.

02:05:02 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

02:05:03 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:05:03 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Exactly.

02:05:05 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 7:

All right. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. I think you are going to run into him. I'm not wishing this upon you. I'm just telling you that's just how life works, that you end up running into the person and you're like, how the hell did this just happen to you? You buy a car and all of a sudden, that's every car you see is the one you're in. Or the one for me always was when I had a baby and I started noticing everybody had strollers. Like, you know what I mean? Like sometimes.

02:05:26 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 3:

You notice what kind of stroller it is.

02:05:28 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, it's part of your life. Tap that app. Mojo in the morning on the iHeartRadio app. Tap that app. All right, we're going to give you a chance to win a car. We're doing a contest called Find the Fob. You know, the key fobs that you start a car with, like a brand-new Chevy from Moran Chevrolet. We're going to hide it in one of their cars, and then on May the 2nd, we'll do a grand finale with everybody that qualifies, including you if you're the 95th caller at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller is going to get qualified to win a car. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. So we do have in-studio guests this morning that are here with us. And Shannon says that one of the dirty stories...

02:06:11 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 3:

Is so not appropriate for kids.

02:06:13 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 7:

It may not be appropriate. So turn the radio up. But they listen to the show. Come on up here. Come up to the microphone. Actually, come up to this microphone right over here. You get your own microphone. Do we have headsets or anything for them? We do. Put a headphone on, and you can be an on-air radio star. Come up real close to that thing. What is your name? What school are you from?

02:06:34 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 5:

My name's Abigail, and I go to St. Hugo.

02:06:37 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 7:

St. Hugo's a great school. You know who the most famous person to ever go to St. Hugo's is?

02:06:42 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Who?

02:06:42 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 7:

Brad Galley.

02:06:44 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 5:

I think.

02:06:45 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 7:

His wife is the athletic director there, right?

02:06:47 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 5:

I think, yeah. Claire. Yeah, she's our sports director, and we sometimes see him at school.

02:06:54 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 7:

He's there all the time? Like what? Like hanging out on the playground? Or what's Brad Kelly doing at school?

02:07:00 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes when we're at assembly.

02:07:02 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 7:

Is he? He's the nicest guy ever.

02:07:04 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 6:

I think I know somebody that's like more of a celebrity than Brad who goes to San Hugo. Abigail.

02:07:08 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 7:

Who? Abigail. Of course.

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 6:

That's right, Abigail.

02:07:11 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 7:

We heard about you, Abigail. All right, Abigail, Shannon's going to do the dirty. And during the inappropriate things, I'm going to play WDVD in your headphones. you're gonna hear you're gonna hear awful music but that's but that's okay you'll be okay during the time no i can't do that i don't know the technology i know abigail is shot i know abigail her mom's like why did i bring her in here and you are your friend mom and aunt mom and aunt are here we're getting drunk with your mom by the way beautiful ladies i wasn't gonna say it behavior stuff. You almost already got in trouble by your wife today. I know. What's going on,

02:07:51 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 3:

Shannon? Okay, so I do want to give you some updates on that helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River just outside of Manhattan yesterday afternoon, taking the lives of all six people who were on board. If you've seen the video of this, I mean, you see this helicopter and other debris just plummeting into the water. This was about 18 minutes into its flight.

02:08:10 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 1:

It sounded like a sonic boom on my right. So I look up and literally I just see a helicopter splitting in two with the rotor flying off in the sky. It was going so fast, it just went straight into the water. It was crazy.

02:08:23 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 7:

It was crazy how literally the rotor just came apart from the helicopter.

02:08:28 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, New York City Mayor Eric Adams commenting on this during a press conference yesterday.

02:08:32 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 4:

The pilot and the family visiting from Spain, what our preliminary information has at this time. Members of the FDNY and NYPD harbor units arrived at the scene and divers from both agencies entered the water.

02:08:48 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, the mayor mentioned that the chopper was carrying a family of tourists from Spain. So mom, dad, three kids, ages four, five, and 11. They were in the States to celebrate a birthday. Now, to just give you a little bit of a backstory here, this was that helicopter's sixth flight of the day. And all of the previous flights were fine. No mechanical issues, nothing.

02:09:12 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 2:

NYPD divers pulled four people from the crash site, and FDNY divers recovered an additional two. Immediate life-saving measures were undertaken on the vessels at the scene, as well as the adjoining pier. Four victims were pronounced dead on scene, and two more were removed to local area hospitals, where sadly both succumbed to their injuries.

02:09:36 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 7:

Could you imagine if that helicopter didn't land in the Hudson, but landed on land? that would have been even more tragic if there had been deaths on the ground.

02:09:44 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 6:

When you bring up the point about it being a sixth flight that day, does that have any impact on maybe why it went down? Is six like a normal amount?

02:09:51 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I mean, I don't know this for a fact, but I would assume that they check it just like they do every flight before every airplane.

02:10:00 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 5:

flight they check it for you know a certain number of things but yeah i don't know she is not new to this and it just happened again nikki minaj seems to have been the target of yet another swatting incident involving an alleged shooter at her home on wednesday night la county sheriff's deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at her hidden hills california home this was wednesday like seven in the evening and the caller claimed that somebody had shot a black female adult and two suspects dressed in all black were still on the property. So, of course, police rush to the scene. They find zero evidence of a crime when they arrive. A spokesperson for the sheriff's department later confirmed that it was another swatting call.

02:10:44 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 3:

These swatting things are, to me, nonsensical. I don't get it how they'll call the police and say something bad's happening and then the police all show up.

02:10:52 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Why? What's the purpose?

02:10:54 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 3:

I think it's just like, I don't know if they're like younger guys that are doing cranks or something like that.

02:11:00 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 4:

So swatting is a fake call?

02:11:02 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And they claim that there's a bad thing happening at that location, so the police show with guns a-blazing, you know what I mean? It's crazy.

02:11:11 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 5:

What a waste of resources, too. Horrible. So this is that story, by the way, Abigail. Turn your headphones up, Abigail.

02:11:17 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Abigail. Abigail, pray for these people because they need prayers.

02:11:23 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 5:

There's another story after this. Okay, so we talked about this briefly in the 5 at 6.55 earlier today. Khloe Kardashian just up in arms and blasting her ex, Lamar Odom, for having a sex doll created that looks exactly like her.

02:11:40 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 3:

Man. Oh, am I supposed to play something? I'm sure he is. I'm supposed to play something. Hold Khloe here.

02:11:45 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

I found out about Lamar's blow-up doll, I think the same way any of us found out. It was on the internet. But not sure why that's something we are publicly talking about. Lamar thinks this Chloe-like sex doll will be perfect because he could do whatever he wants with her sexually. No word on how Chloe feels about this tribute.

02:12:11 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 5:

So this was on the Kardashians, but she's also talked about it on our podcast.

02:12:17 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 4:

She said, I don't know why this is something publicly known, and then they put it in the show. Yeah. Okay.

02:12:24 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, now we all know.

02:12:26 - 02:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, you know what's interesting? We don't have a kind of doll like that, but did you see that Bianca made us, you know, everybody's doing the trend of the super, what is it, like the Barbie dolls? Oh, like the action figures? The Barbies. Oh. She made us, did you see? No. She made us Barbies.

02:12:44 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 4:

Where?

02:12:45 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

And now we are, she put, are you going to post that, Bianca? Yeah, I'm going to post it later today.

02:12:51 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 5:

I got them all done, though. They're all ready.

02:12:52 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 3:

So she's worried, though, because she thinks that Shannon's going to be upset with hers.

02:12:57 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Why?

02:12:58 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 3:

She says that you look better in real life than you do as a Barbie for some reason.

02:13:02 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Let me see it. Bring it in right now. I've seen a Muppet one that somebody did. Yeah. You do look better in real life. You look like Rachel Ray, whatever that chef lady was. I'm like, this is not Shannon.

02:13:11 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 3:

I look really good, though, in my... Have you seen my Barbie? No, I haven't. I haven't seen any Barbies. It looks great.

02:13:18 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 5:

All right. And real quick, a shout out to the Western Michigan University. The Broncos. You hear about this? Got to talk about that. After winning the school's first conference championship last month in double overtime, by the way, over Denver, and then advancing to its first Frozen for the Broncos, now headed to their first national title game. They squeaked by Denver 3-2 in double overtime last night in St. Louis. So, yes, they are moving ahead.

02:13:43 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this is crazy because, you know, you always hear everybody talking about Michigan and Michigan State when they talk about this, you know, hockey, great schools. But Western, good job, Western. Hey, bring it home. Want the top five songs in the country? Absolutely. Top five songs in the country this week on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Number five. You like the song? Do you like it? Tell me which songs you like the most, okay? Number four song.

02:14:17 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Shaboozy.

02:14:21 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 3:

You like that song, too? You like that song, too? The number three song.

02:14:29 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Drake.

02:14:33 - 02:14:45 | Speaker 3:

Not so much for Drake, huh? No, you like, no, not so much. Abigail doesn't like Drake. Number two song. Oh, you love Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars?

02:14:45 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 5:

This one's still on here.

02:14:47 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is a good song.

02:14:50 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 5:

When we're iHeartRadio.

02:14:52 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 3:

Number two song.

02:14:54 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Nobody's promised tomorrow. So I'm going to love you every night.

02:15:00 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

You know what? This is actually a good task to play music and see what people think. Because Abigail went crazy when she started hearing this song. The number one song. Abigail, tell me if you've heard this song before. This is the number one song in the country. Do you and your friends listen to Kendrick Lamar? Yes.

02:15:20 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 1:

If this world were mine. This is the number one song in the country. If this world was mine, I'd take your dreams and make them multiply. Hey, if you missed anything in the Dirty this week,

02:15:34 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 2:

you can catch up by checking out the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the iHeartRadio app.

02:15:44 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Good song. All right, be right back. Don't go anywhere. Celebrity Dirt.

Your call may be monitored or recorded. All right, I'm going to give you a chance to win a car or $25,000 cash. All right, first off, Matt, if you were to be the winner of this, would you take the car or would you take the cash?

02:16:09 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 4:

I was just talking about it, and to be honest, I think I might take the cash because $25,000 seems pretty good.

02:16:18 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, would you put that thing towards bills or do you got something fun that you're going to do with it? Because I think nowadays everybody's got bills.

02:16:24 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 4:

i probably just you know take care of most of my bills that i have so i can get those out of the way and probably do something fun with it for sure matt you're a winner yeah matt matt i like

02:16:37 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 3:

that you're thinking man i like that you're thinking about this what about this what if you find the fob and it's in a brand new beautiful corvette of the color of your love like a black Corvette?

02:16:50 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 4:

I'd probably take the Corvette because it's worth a lot.

02:16:55 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 3:

Screw those bills. I don't care about my bills.

02:16:58 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, screw the bills at that point.

02:17:00 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations to you, buddy. This is from Moran Chevrolet on the east side of the Detroit area. These guys are giving you a chance to win. Find the fob. If you find the key fob that's in one of the cars that's there on the lot, you will win it. And by the way, we have word that somebody actually went on the lot looking to see if they could find the fob now. We haven't even started the contest yet. So don't just randomly start opening cars thinking that you can not. All right. This is wait until May 2nd when we do this contest, okay? People are like opening the doors of cars and getting crazy. So, all right. Well, congrats. We appreciate you, Matt. Thanks for listening to the show, buddy. Have a great weekend.

All the cuddle seats are already gone yeah so those and you know what those didn't go right away and i don't think people understood what the cuddle seats were i think they just looked and they said oh 50 bucks why are they charging 50 50 but you can fit people on that like you know what i mean like you can put a bunch of people on that on the deal it's like you're on your couch remember victor bought a cuddle seat and it was just him because nobody from his family wanted to go with them i felt so bad for the guy he just sitting in he was like anybody want to cuddle but it was great though because it was up front and you're sitting up front and we promised that the audio is going to be better than it was last time and the the lighting is going to be a little bit better too

02:19:43 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 2:

i was squinting the entire time last time it was so bright like like we were up there we had no

02:19:49 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 3:

idea there were people in the audience because at one point it was it was blaring bright for us um all right

02:20:00 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 2:

mesquite and grand rapids wvks toledo three great stations one stupid show this is mojo in the

02:20:09 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 3:

morning live all right it is uh time now here on the mojo in the morning show for another topic i got a topic kev's got a topic but kev's topic has to get done and i don't know if you're willing to do it now but remember the other morning when kev was going to do a topic and he said i don't want to do it because it will offend the the person who the topic was about yes and so we all talked about it and listeners were all like kev kev needs to do the topic and he said all right i'll do it on friday i said i'll do it live he's gonna do it friday because friday won't hurt a

02:20:47 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

person's feelings as much as wednesday no it's not that the wound was still fresh based on a conversation that we had that was unrelated to the topic so it wasn't even that the topic was so salacious it was just that the conversation that i had with the person the day before this would have been literally pouring salt in the open womb okay and i just didn't want that to

02:21:06 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

happen it was just coming too quick too close all right so is it okay have we had enough time i mean whatever is there been a waiting period i'm a man of my word i said friday we're gonna

02:21:14 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 4:

do a friday all right so let's hear it what's going on sure she came over to the crib after opening day and you know what goes down opening day everybody's outside drinking you're outside a long time and you know touchy philly we was about to do the do we're kissing and i'm like man your breath's thank you gotta go brush your teeth and she couldn't believe that i said that but it was true because i'm not about to continue to kiss you and your breaths tastes like opening day tastes like third base like i can't do that

02:21:42 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 1:

so what was her reaction to telling her that she went and brushed her teeth was she upset

02:21:48 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 4:

No, not really. I think I said it in a very loving way, but you had to go brush your teeth. Oh, my God, I'd be so embarrassed. It tastes like a fastball. Like, what's going on right now?

02:21:57 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 3:

This is actually a good question. If you're making out with Wes and you have bad breath, you expect that Wes should just make out with bad breath?

02:22:09 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 1:

So we both get bad breath from time to time, but it's like I know I have bad breath, and he is very aware that he has bad breath. So it has happened many times, actually, where we have stopped making out or whatever we were doing to go, I'm sorry, I have to go brush my teeth. Like we call ourselves out.

02:22:26 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 3:

But you would not want him to say to you?

02:22:30 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 1:

See, I'm so self-conscious about it. I would. I think I've said it to him before. See? As I'm thinking about this, I probably have said it to him before. Like your breath is terrible.

02:22:38 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay. But it would kill the mood. This is a good question. Will it kill the mood and has anybody ever had this happen to them in the middle of baking cookies or just a makeout session if that person tells you? And then the other one, too, is has anybody ever gone so far as to say, you got to go take a shower?

02:22:58 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

But we're married. We're married. I feel like it's different. You're just starting a relationship with this girl. I feel like you can't say your breath is bad.

02:23:07 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I would love to power through, but it was not one of those situations. You could not power through this. I couldn't power through. And it was okay. It didn't interrupt the move. She got up. I have toothbrushes available for guests. You do. Did you brush your teeth?

02:23:21 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 3:

I would have. My breath didn't stink. You're like going to the dentist office. They give you a little bag of toothbrushes and floss and all that stuff.

02:23:28 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 4:

She had her own because she was coming over to stay. So she just got up, brushed her and said it was Mickey Fresh.

02:23:32 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 3:

So go back to the you wouldn't bring it up the other morning. So you're not with this girl anymore?

02:23:38 - 02:23:45 | Speaker 4:

That was the conversation that we had the day before was me separating the relationship. Right. It was a tough conversation.

02:23:45 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 3:

Wait, did you cut her off because her breast tank?

02:23:47 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. It wasn't that. It wasn't that.

02:23:49 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay. You just cut, but you did. You actually, you gave her the.

02:23:53 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 4:

We had to distance ourselves.

02:23:54 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 3:

You gave her the bad news.

02:23:55 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we had to distance ourselves.

02:23:56 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 3:

What do you say when you're breaking up with somebody? Do you say, like, are you like Donald Trump? You're fired? Exactly. Or what do you say?

02:24:01 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 4:

I was like, because I don't, I don't know how to beat a Ronda Bush sometimes. And sometimes I can get so passionate that if I try to think of the best way to say it, it's not going to be received the way that it needs to be received.

02:24:12 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:24:12 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 4:

So I was like, I don't know how else to say this, and I don't mean to be rude, but I think we should just not see each other anymore.

02:24:17 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, and now I'm going to go on the radio two days later and talk about your bad breath.

02:24:22 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 4:

No, listen, she is a phenomenal person. Like, absolutely love her, adore her. It just didn't work for us.

02:24:27 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Dallas, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:24:30 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, guys? I want to tell you how to handle that. So what you're supposed to do is you pause and you go get something, some candy or some gum. You take one and you give it to that person.

02:24:42 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:24:42 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 2:

And that settles that.

02:24:43 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Really? Okay, so instead of telling them that their breath stinks or they need to go brush your teeth.

02:24:48 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 1:

That's still telling them that their breath stinks. Hey, let's take them into it.

02:24:51 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 2:

It's a nice way you can do it. You can just say, hey, hold on one second. You run and go do that.

02:24:56 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 4:

And someone needs a breath mint.

02:24:58 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No, okay.

02:25:00 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 6:

But that seems like what you do is a very nice thing, but I'm telling you, it comes across the same as your breast aches.

02:25:07 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 3:

No, if you say it, that's a lot worse. All of a sudden, we need gum.

02:25:12 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 1:

As a female, I am telling you, it comes across the same way.

02:25:15 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 6:

I think that...

02:25:16 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 3:

You never turn it down. When somebody offers it to you, no matter where you are, they could be telling you something. You always take it.

02:25:22 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

Like, when somebody offers me a piece of gum or a Listerine strip, whatever, I'm like, ooh, is my breath that bad? Like, I immediately know, and they're always like, no, no, no, no, I just wanted one, I'm just trying to offer it to you. I'm like, no, I know my breath is bad.

02:25:35 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 6:

If the person's breath is really stinky, do you tell them to start down by the feet and then work their way up and hope that the breath gets better?

02:25:43 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 3:

If the breath is that bad, you just stop and you move on to something else. You move on to something else.

02:25:47 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 6:

Hey, maybe we should just watch TV. Okay.

02:25:51 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 1:

I think he said something inappropriate, but you were talking to him. I don't know.

02:25:54 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 6:

I didn't, I usually, I, I actually, uh, wait for Megan to be the one thing that says,

02:26:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 5:

Dump! She's like, Dump on everything! Dump!

02:26:03 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 6:

Like, Jesus, she just gave me, by the way, I think this last week and a half or two weeks without her, we probably have had a few things that should not, should not have been on the air, but, uh, all right, uh, go ahead, bring these guys in, we got a bunch of guys, uh, who, there's a, there is a bunch of food that got brought in, come on in studio, bring them in studio.

02:26:24 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 5:

You can smell it.

02:26:26 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 6:

Come on over here real quick. I'm going to have these guys. Through the glass. I'd rather have you sit there, but these guys are coming in with food.

02:26:34 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys.

02:26:34 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 6:

What do we got here? Where are you guys from?

02:26:36 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 5:

You can smell it through the glass. Dave's Hot Chicken is here, everybody. Dave's Hot Chicken. Dave's Hot Chicken.

02:26:42 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 6:

Who's the spokesperson of Dave's Hot Chicken? Are you a spokesperson? Are you Dave?

02:26:47 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Dave. I'm Dave of the Midwest.

02:26:51 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 6:

Dave's Hot Chicken. All right, tell me about this place. Because you know what? I can't eat anything with gluten in it and stuff. So I just sit there and have to. You know what it's like? It's like a married guy going to a strip club. You can't go to a strip club anymore.

02:27:03 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 2:

It stinks. Window shopping.

02:27:05 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 6:

Right. So tell me about your chicken. What do you got going on there?

02:27:08 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So we brought you guys some mini sliders today that we just released. So first ones to have it this week. And we're excited to bring that to you today.

02:27:17 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 6:

So these are the sliders of the chicken from the normal Dave's Hot Chicken now on a slider version, huh?

02:27:25 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 2:

So technically now it's actually our bites, our Dave's Bites that we've read in-house. So it's going to be something that you guys are really going to enjoy.

02:27:33 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 1:

Where are your locations around here?

02:27:35 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 2:

We have eight locations, seven in Michigan. We have Toledo. We have East Lansing, Howell, Southfield. Southfield, for sure. Yeah, over 12 Telegraph. We have Troy. We have Shelby Township, Dearborn, Warren, 13 of my own.

02:27:52 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 6:

02:27:54 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

We have not gone over there. You've got to get over there. Yeah, we're looking forward to doing that. Okay.

02:27:58 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 4:

But Toledo. I like Toledo. I've had Dave's Hot Chicken before. For real, back in the day, she brought some home. First time I had, I was like, damn, who is Dave? I'm telling you, for real.

02:28:09 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 6:

I like it. It's Kevin's birthday, so let's pretend like we actually paid for Dave's Hot Chicken today. and it's not these guys. Happy birthday, Cass.

02:28:18 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:28:19 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 6:

We got a phone call from a special person that said that you like Dave's Hot Chicken. So Dave's Hot Chicken is here. Thank you. I appreciate you. Are we the best? Happy birthday to you. Does Dave's have like a, do you guys have a mascot or anything like that? Like is there anybody there that doesn't, no?

02:28:32 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 2:

No, technically we don't have a mascot. Our actual logo is the rubber chicken. It is the rubber chicken. I like that. Is that it on your hat? I like that. Is that socks? Socks, yeah. Wow.

02:28:42 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 6:
