This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:00 - 00:02:02 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

00:02:02 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 1:

And the Rockets Red Dwarf. This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:02:15 - 00:02:46 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:02:46 - 00:03:18 | Speaker 7:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. So this is the reason why they wanted us on, right? Until 11 o'clock, so they can hear us talking about nothing. Talking about you eating over there. Yeah. Oh, Shannon, we talked about this early in the show. It was, like, really early. I want to hear more about your girls' night.

00:03:19 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it was so fun. Saturday.

00:03:20 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 7:

So you went out with a bunch of your friends on Saturday night?

00:03:24 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 1:

Four of my other girlfriends, yep. And we did drinks and apps at one place, which actually I have a question for you about that. It was so fun, too. One of my girlfriends, who we thought was out of town, surprised us and showed up in the middle of it. So we were all screaming. They probably all hated us in this restaurant. But so if when you were single, right, if you sent a table of girls drinks, like a round of drinks, you expected there to be some sort of conversation, right? Like you're not going to do that just because or do you?

00:03:55 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 7:

Well, I got to be honest with you. I never could. I know I never could afford to do a whole table. I usually send it to one particular person. Let me speak from experience. But Joey, Joey here.

00:04:06 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Baller. I was asking both of you. I was just putting the question out there for anybody.

00:04:10 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm a baller on the club's budget because I always get a little tab, right? Okay. Yeah. So you always do it. Just strike up a conversation.

00:04:17 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

So somebody in the restaurant sent our table a round of drinks. We ordered our own drinks, and then our waiter came over and said, somebody, you know, we started to order, and he's like, oh, no, no, no, somebody picked up your second round, so we already have all of your same drinks coming out again. And we said, oh, who was it? And we're kind of looking around seeing if it was anybody that we all knew and it wasn't. And he said, they don't want me to tell you. And so I thought, oh, okay. Like we were trying to figure out was it somebody's husband because everybody in that group is married except for me. Or like was it another one of our friends? No, no. We kept getting no responses. So finally we cornered another waitress and she pointed to a group of guys who was sitting in a booth adjacent to us. not

00:05:00 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 4:

far, far enough away that we couldn't talk to them, you know, across the restaurant. And so they never made eye contact with us, nothing. And when they got up to leave, I just kind of assumed that they would come over and say something to us, nothing. They got up and left. And I thought, why did they, were they just being nice, which was so incredibly nice of them, but I didn't get why they did it.

00:05:21 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Were you hoping that they would come over so you could know who they are? No, I was going to say that's like the greatest thing ever. You got something for free, and you did not have to even fake enjoying their conversation. But that's what I'm saying.

00:05:33 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 4:

It was just kind of them to do, but why did they do it?

00:05:38 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Maybe they sent it to the wrong table.

00:05:40 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Maybe. I don't know.

00:05:42 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

I would probably think that, do they say who it was sent for or just all of you guys? So somebody that saw a group of women, I'm sure the attractive women, and they probably were, what do you think that they were doing?

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. they were being being nice but that was my question was i was so surprised when they got up and walked

00:06:01 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

out like i always say anything i always looked at buying a drink for some people like sending drinks over across the bar like you would see that that stuff sometimes happen and i would look at it as that kind of comes across like creepy to to send it i mean it's it's nice i did it one time

00:06:18 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

to a guy when i first moved here i was single i was at slow's barbecue i'll never forget this and I was sitting at the bar. I can't remember who I was with, but there was a cute guy at the very, very other end of the bar. And so I said to the bartender, and I've never, ever done it before, can you send that guy over there a drink? And he did, and he came back. Remember, I told this story on the air, and he goes, I'm sorry to report to you, he only likes other guys. And I was like, dang it, I'm never doing this again.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Natalie? Hi.

00:06:48 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I was at a restaurant today celebrating my anniversary with my husband. And I saw Shannon and her girlfriend walk in. And I was so excited to see Shannon. But I felt like a creepsider in Fanny. Oh, my gosh.

00:07:00 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 4:

Please always come up and say hi. Seriously. I feel like we were the most annoying people there. We were so loud.

00:07:05 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Could you hear him screaming?

00:07:06 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she could.

00:07:07 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. No, totally. Because so we were there, obviously, before you guys walked in. So, like, I saw, you know, you guys in town, whatever. And then somebody came over and, like, we heard you guys, like, scream and stuff. And I was like, oh, but you guys are so cute. But I was like, oh, my gosh, she's just as cute as, like, on Instagram.

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 4:

Aw, thank you.

00:07:26 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Do you know who sent over the drinks?

00:07:29 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

It was the table guys in the booth on the other side of the bar.

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

So you know it was those guys for a fact.

00:07:34 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 3:

They were the guys then right next to us then. Those had to be. They were, like, four or five different guys.

00:07:38 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

Were they good-looking guys?

00:07:42 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:07:45 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Really? Wow. Do they look like they were married, guys, or do they look like they were – Oh, no, straight.

00:07:52 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

100% straight.

00:07:53 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 2:

100%. Well, I'm not saying straight or gay, but I'm saying married.

00:07:56 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 4:

I can't even get a close enough look to say that.

00:07:57 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, married or not, if you're sending drinks to a group of girls,

00:08:01 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

you're trying to get something out of that, at least some phone numbers.

00:08:04 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

They could have, like, identified themselves because, otherwise, what's the point, you know?

00:08:08 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

But then I kind of feel like a jerk now that I'm thinking about it. Like, one of us could have gotten up and gone over and said thank you, and we didn't. So that was our bad, too. So, but I don't know.

00:08:17 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's interesting that you saw Shannon out there, or actually, I'm sorry, you heard Shannon out there, then saw her, and...

00:08:25 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

One friend was dropping F-bombs left and right. I mean, we were.

00:08:29 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

I recognized your voice, though, too. Like, I was like, oh, yeah, that's her, that's her voice. I'm sorry.

00:08:34 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

And if you're the ugly guys that were sending drinks over there, please.

00:08:39 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 1:

How happy does it make me to listen to Mojo in the morning? I'd say happier than Shannon checking out a naked pic of Ryan Gosling.

00:08:45 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

so what is nomophobia we're going to talk about that right now here on the mojo in the morning show i have suffered from nomophobia but i will tell you that when i saw the stats as far as the people that truly are suffering from nomophobia i thought to myself i'm like man I could see it because it's one of those things that we become so addicted and when we don't have, we get crazy. All right? Nomophobia is what college campuses are going crazy over right now because 9 in 10 college students battle from the fear of being without their smartphone. That's nomophobia or a fear of being out of smartphone contact. It's an extremely common condition amongst college students. It may be a common condition for you, and you may not even be a college student, but preliminary findings show that 89% of college students experience moderate to severe nomophobia. And this author of the study says that we...

00:10:00 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 1:

We found that college students who experience more nomophobia were also more likely to experience poorer sleep, that they're so attached to their smartphones that they have to have the smartphone with them at all times, and they even have it with them while they're sleeping, and they'll wake up in the middle of the night from nomophobia and have to actually go look at their phone, causing them not to go back to bed.

00:10:22 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I feel like I'm missing my hand when I leave my phone at home, which I did a couple of weeks ago. Remember, I came in and I was like, I left my phone at home. Joey did find my phone for me and it was at my house.

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 1:

But I don't know how you survived. I would have gone back home.

00:10:35 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I didn't have it the whole day.

00:10:37 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

I've actually had to send an intern out to go to my house to go get my phone, which is funny because I've left my computer at home and I just said, all right, screw it. I'll just keep my phone.

00:10:45 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 4:

It's the same thing like when you're somewhere and you don't have any service. It drives me crazy. I feel like I'm just not connected to the rest of the world.

00:10:53 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Do you get that crazed over it? Like, is there, is there, to me, it's the fear not of anything of being out of contact that if I don't have it, something bad's going to happen to me.

00:11:07 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 4:

That, and this sounds really bad, but sometimes I'm like, what do I do? Like, I can't scroll through Instagram, I can't text my email, I can't text my friends.

00:11:18 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

I have had situations before, too, with this nomophobia, and I think that this is something that I'm going to have to tell my wife that I seriously suffer from so when she yells at me for always being on my phone I'm going to tell her this is a condition you cannot make fun of me anymore I feel like you're nomophobia shaming me but I have had it before where I can feel the vibration of my text messages coming in or alerts coming in and nothing will come in like I will have it go and I'll go check and I'll go oh there's no alerts but I thought I just felt the thing coming up

00:11:53 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's something, too. There's a – what do they call it? Phantom vibrations or phantom – I don't know.

00:11:59 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 1:

You have the Apple Watch. The Apple Watch gives you that phantom – you know, you get the –

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, that's like a little vibration, too, like the pulse or whatever.

00:12:09 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 1:

I think I love my phone more than I love my family. I don't know if that's – no, I'm joking. I'm not saying that. But I honestly have tried to go phone-free for like a weekend.

00:12:21 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, you were successful for that one vacation.

00:12:23 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 1:

It was very good. I actually did a nice job of that. But I was, you know, it was tough. It was very tough.

00:12:28 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

You know what, though? When I do purposely, like, go put my phone upstairs in my bedroom to charge or whatever so that I am trying to be conscious and intentional about not having it around, especially if I have the kids, it does feel really good. But then when I check it, I'm like, oh, my gosh, thank you. Everything's back to normal. Yeah. Everything's good in the world.

00:12:48 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 1:

We gonna take you back in the... It was the year that Kourtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker started dating.

00:13:05 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 2:

He was one of my closest friends for probably eight years. We could just be ourselves. We fell in love, and now he's my boyfriend.

00:13:15 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 4:

Britney Spears' conservatorship ended this year.

00:13:18 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Britney Spears finally free. The crowd outside the courthouse erupting after the news was revealed. Judge Brenda Penny saying this conservatorship is no longer required. It is terminated.

00:13:31 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 4:

And I think I heard it so many times, it's still just playing over and over again in my head. Deja Vu by Olivia Rodrigo was the song that we were all listening to. You tell me the year, I will hook you up with a pair of tickets to see AEW. That's All Elite Wrestling at Little Caesars Arena on May 10th. The number to call, 844-MOJO-LIVE. That's 844-665-6548. Good luck.

00:13:57 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 3:

You're smart.

00:13:58 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Prove it. You remember the year the stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We give you clues. You tell us the year. We give you cool prizes.

00:14:10 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this was the year that Courtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker started dating.

00:14:16 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 2:

He was one of my closest friends for probably eight years. We could just be ourselves. We fell in love, and now he's my boyfriend.

00:14:26 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Britney Spears' conservatorship ended this year.

00:14:29 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 3:

Britney Spears finally free. The crowd outside the courthouse erupting after the news was revealed. Judge Brenda Penny saying this conservatorship is no longer required. It is terminated.

00:14:41 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

And Deja Vu by Olivia Rodrigo was one of the top songs that you could hear on this radio program. You tell me the year, I'm going to hook you up with tickets, and I want to talk to Khalil this morning. What's going on, Khalil? Hey, good morning. Did I say your name right, by the way? Yeah.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sweet. What was the year? 2021.

00:15:04 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 3:

Nice job. Absolutely correct. What was the clue that gave it away for you?

00:15:08 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 2:

So my wife's a fan of the Kardashians, so I just know that from, I know it's after

00:15:12 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 3:

COVID and she watches the show, yeah. You don't watch it at all,

00:15:16 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 2:

do you? No.

00:15:18 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 3:

Alright, just making sure. We're going to hook you up with a pair of tickets to the AEW that's All Elite Wrestling at LCA on May 10th, so congratulations. Have fun. And for everybody else, tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster.com. Enjoy this beautiful day, okay?

00:15:56 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 so much stuff to tell you about today gonna start with a little skandaval that is all of the drama that's happening with vanderpump rules and tom sandoval and him cheating on his girlfriend of a really long time so tom from vanderpump rules opening up about his affair with raquel levis in an interview with howie mandel how he He does a podcast, if you're not aware. He even let Howie shave his mustache during their time together, which is very strange, very random, but okay. So Tom said he's learned a lot from the experience of cheating on Ariana Maddox and claimed he actually called things off with her back on Valentine's Day.

00:16:44 - 00:16:58 | Speaker 6:

Before she found the stuff on your phone, she would have considered you guys still in a relationship and maybe a relationship that could have been mended. right because she was going in a different direction than you i have already broken up

00:16:58 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 1:

with her two weeks earlier and i told her i said listen we don't have to post anything on social media like let's talk through this i understand like we can we can like keep this like between us like we always have kept stuff between us and figure out a way to navigate this that like helps us both out and then a couple days later i sit down and talk with her again and she's like i'm like not letting you leave me um you're gonna have to force me out of this relationship and i was like ariana like i don't i was even like i don't think i could be faithful in a relationship

00:17:34 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 4:

with you right now do we believe this he is such a liar he did not break up with her he was playing both sides of the field everybody close to ariana said she did not say that they were broken up on valentine's day that is not true they she thought they were still together he lied the entire time And Howie Mandel had no idea about the scandal, about Vanderbilt Rules, about anything. The interview was such a hard watch because he didn't know anything. And it was like he didn't even prep even a little bit for it and then didn't set up Tom for the questions he wanted to answer. So Tom went on this like 20-minute tie read. It was so weird. And then when he put on the blue gloves to shave off his mustache, I was like, what? That's what I was going to ask is why is Howie Mandel interviewing anybody? Because they had a weird connection. Howie Mandel's, one of Howie Mandel's people knew Tom's drummer.

00:18:26 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh. So, of course, it was like, we know people will listen to this if we got him on. He did talk about and describe what his first kiss with Raquel was like.

00:18:38 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Like, we were, like, we would, it was, like, magnetic. Like, we were talking, moving, like, closer. Like, just, like, as we were talking, like, as time went on, it's like we would just start talking closer and closer. and then all of a sudden it's just like we're like hissing and it's like I felt something that I hadn't felt in so long.

00:19:00 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, somebody called you smart.

00:19:02 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

He also gave an update on he and Raquel's current relationship status. Are you still with her?

00:19:08 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 1:

You're with her? We're not like, we're just, we're really good friends. We're not putting any label on it. We're also just kind of taking like a break. Right.

00:19:18 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. There you go. It's posted, by the way, on the dirty page at mojointhewinning.com if you want to watch the whole thing. The Air Jordan 13s, worn by Michael Jordan during the 1998 NBA Finals, just sold for, are you ready, Mike? $2,238,000. The highest price ever paid at auction for a pair of sneakers. Sotheby's announced the historic sale of the iconic shoes yesterday. Again, worn by MJ during the pivotal Game 2 matchup against the Utah Jazz. The pair are the only complete set, left and right shoe, worn by Michael Jordan during a finals game. $2.2 million. What are you going to do with those? Put them on a shelf and just stare at them. Yeah, never wear them ever. Yeah.

00:20:00 - 00:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Sheeran in New York City for a show in Brooklyn and I just love him so much. He used the opportunity to surprise a local legend named Mike Young. Now you might remember this guy. Mike went viral back in 2016 thanks to a video of him singing in a New York subway station which led to him appearing on America's Got Talent and I think he released an actual album a couple of years ago but fast forward to this week. Mike was filming a video at the Church Street subway station in Brooklyn singing Ed's new song, Eyes Closed, when Ed just happened to walk by.

00:20:35 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Dancing with my eyes closed. Everywhere I look, I still see you. Time is moving so slow.

00:20:44 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to sing my day.

00:20:46 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:20:47 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

What up, Kevin? I love you. I'm great. How cool is that?

00:20:51 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 4:

Ed walks up, joins him, they sing together, and then, of course, he surprises him with tickets to his show. Did his full album subtract for the first time in America, by the way, at that show in Brooklyn. And lastly, Oscar Mayer is giving couples a chance to get married for free during the company's first ever Wienermobile of Love event. I wonder if I should be forthcoming with this one. So we're going away for the weekend, and Chelsea was freaking out because we did not have anybody to pet sit, Henry and Louie. And we were trying to figure out, like, what to do as far as that was concerned. So I had called up one of my friends who has a dog, and I said, hey, who was the person that pets at your dog last time? Because he raved about how great this person was, and he said the person's name, and I don't want to say their name on there because obviously when I tell you, you don't want their name on the radio. And he said, yeah, he said, I think that they would be great. I'm like, okay, cool, because he raved about how he came back home and his dog was just, like, in love with this girl. She was great. He also said that she pet sat at his house, and he trusted her fully, came home, his house was cleaner than it was when he left, and he has nobody there cleaning but himself. So she cleaned, obviously, the house. So I told Chelsea about this, and Chelsea's like, well, I don't know if I want her to stay at the house, but maybe she can watch the dogs. Yesterday he goes and tells me something about her. That I think he should have said something to me about before. The last time that she pet sat for someone, which was like a weekend or two ago, the dog died in a freak accident. I guess the dog knocked cleaning supplies off of the table and a bottle broke hitting the ground and the dog ended up swallowing a bunch of poisonous.

00:25:00 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 2:

liquid and ended up dying oh that's sad but that's an accident but do I do I now have to tell

00:25:07 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 1:

that to Chelsea before we do anything because he didn't tell me that ahead of time he told me nothing but the positives but last time you know the last I saw I talked to him yesterday he says he tells me this story do I now have to tell Chelsea and now freak her out well I think you

00:25:22 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 2:

got I think you have to tell her because she's gonna be so pissed if she finds out after the fact and and figures out that you knew and didn't say anything to her even though i hope that she will you know i mean it is an accident why is my life so hard that's a megan why is my life so hard huh that story just made me so sad i mean why can't it megan ever go right you know what i mean like you know what i'm talking about if you didn't know that i've been crying that to myself for the

00:25:51 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 1:

past two weeks i don't i don't know i feel like there's a cloud or something these days but if i

00:25:57 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 2:

don't but you have information that she would be pissed if you didn't give her that information yep it's nothing you did so she can't be mad at you that's why would she be mad at you

00:26:06 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 1:

god could you imagine by the way your pet sitting for somebody no oh god and the dog or whatever the pet is dies while your pet's sitting has that ever happened anybody has anybody ever had the animal die while your pet i mean i don't want to laugh what's up michelle

00:26:21 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 3:

00:26:29 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 1:

we're doing great uh wait michelle you're a professional pet sitter yes i am wow i didn't know that they is there a league that you guys play in or what is it well we're bonded and

00:26:42 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm insured, and I'm a member of the International Pet Sitting Association.

00:26:49 - 00:26:50 | Speaker 1:

Really? Really?

00:26:51 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 3:

That's fancy as hell.

00:26:53 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so...

00:26:54 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead.

00:26:56 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 1:

No, so tell me, have you ever had a situation where a pet died while you were pet sitting?

00:27:02 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 3:

I've had one pet die on my time, yes.

00:27:06 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 1:

What happens when you're a professional pet sitter and that happens? Do they knock you down to the minors?

00:27:10 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 3:

no um i called the the client and um took the dog to the vet and then um then we went from there

00:27:21 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 1:

and the vet talked to the client and so so the dog was already sick then huh pre-existing

00:27:27 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 3:

yeah it was an older dog yeah it was an older dog she passed away she had internal bleeding

00:27:32 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 1:

oh wow this is good to know by the way this is good to know that there's professional pet sitters shelby yes hi shelby hi good morning you had a pet die while you were pet sitting oh i had three

00:27:49 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 5:

pets die oh my gosh girl and you kept going to work okay so i'm not a professional pet sitter i was pet sitting for a co-worker of mine and they didn't die on my watch but like a week or so after i was pet sitting their cat passed away like due to old age but their cat passed away their goldfish passed away and their rabbit passed away all within like a few weeks i know and i felt so bad and that doesn't make me look really good but did they call me back to watch

00:28:22 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 1:

their dogs again that's amazing by the way they must have been really desperate if they're calling and the lady who killed three of the animals. And you've got to sign up, Shubb, and be a part of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Listen to this one here. Hey, Mojo in the Morning, what's up? How you doing, Dawn? Hi. Hi, Dawn. What happened to you when you were pet sitting?

00:28:45 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 4:

The dog's eye popped out. Oh, my God. Did you know that that could happen? No, I had no idea. I was freaking out, and then I had to take it to an emergency vet, and they had to end up taking the eyeball out and throwing the eye shut. Oh, my gosh. While these people were away, when they got back, their dog had to cut the butt with his eyes.

00:29:06 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 1:

Where did the eyeball fall to, the ground?

00:29:10 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 4:

It stuck to the hair of the eye. You know, the dog had the hair around the eyes. Yeah. It was stuck to the hair on the eye.

00:29:19 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 1:

Because with my luck, it would fall to the ground and the dogs would eat it before I noticed that it was gone.

00:29:24 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You come back from vacation, your dog is a pirate. It was so personally a pirate that was sticking out.

00:29:30 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 1:

Watch this. Did you hear Kirby? No, I didn't hear it. What did you say, Kirby?

00:29:33 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you come back from vacation, your dog is a pirate.

00:29:40 - 00:29:40 | Unknown:

Sorry.

00:29:41 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 1:

Listen to this tragedy. Samantha.

00:29:45 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:29:46 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 1:

Samantha, what happened to your daughter's goldfish?

00:29:50 - 00:30:22 | Speaker 3:

We put his tank on the windowsill in the kitchen just so we could see the pretty colors and stuff. And I was rushing around the kitchen, washing dishes. And I just... noticed i'm like where is mr noodles and i'm like kind of panicked and looked down and somehow he had slipped out of the tank and was in the garbage disposal oh yes i'm telling you they are nuts these fish people don't realize as soon as you take that lid off in there no i didn't even have a lid i couldn't put my hand in there so i just prayed and i went and got another one i didn't know what to

00:30:22 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 1:

do she was so young yeah oh my gosh um listen to end on this story darren are you there

00:30:30 - 00:30:31 | Unknown:

Yes, sir.

00:30:31 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 1:

Darren, your brother had a friend watch his cat. Now, you finish the story for us.

00:30:38 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so my brother went on vacation. He asked his friend to watch his cat for him, and he got back. He was gone for maybe two weeks. He got back, and, you know, they met up at his apartment, talked for a little bit, and his friend left. And then shortly after, he texted him back, and he said, hey, by the way, your cat's in your freezer. It died. Oh. Oh.

00:31:00 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 1:

Wait, by the way. Oh, my gosh. No.

00:31:05 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 4:

I guess he didn't know what to do with the cat, so he just put it in the freezer so my brother could do something with it. Oh, my gosh. Wait, all he said was a text.

00:31:14 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 1:

Wait, by the way, like, he didn't call him and tell him, hey, by the way, something's wrong with your cat, your cat's sick or your cat died?

00:31:21 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 4:

No, he just thought about it after he left.

00:31:23 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. But wait a second, why would the brother not come home, see him and go, hey, where's my cat?

00:31:30 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I guess it's a cat thing. I have a dog. It must be a cat thing.

00:31:37 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. My cat's in the freezer. Oh, good Lord.

00:31:40 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 3:

But, like, the disrespect. You put the cat next to the pizza roll.

00:31:46 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 2:

00:35:28 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 4:

She's on Panic! at the Disco. Okay. That's okay. That was a tough one. That was tough. And question number five. This S&M singer is currently the most followed woman on Twitter. Who is she?

00:35:41 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 3:

And KP and Lydia will get you all set up to play this week or next week. And I have to say this, for legal purposes, standard message and data rate supply. It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:36:36 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 1:

What? You ain't kidding me. So in our group chat, Megan was telling us earlier this morning about this car that she saw. And in our group chat, she sent a picture finally of this car. It's the car held together by duct tape. Literally held together by duct tape.

00:36:52 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 3:

Do you see that license plate? It's not screwed in. That license plate is duct tape. To the trunk of that car.

00:36:59 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, they tried to make it like a pretty pattern, too.

00:37:04 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 3:

I honestly can't believe that, like, there are so many car things. I'm not trying to be judgmental, but they are so clearly illegal that I don't know how you get away with it. Like, every time, and I'm so curious if this is a thing that happens in Michigan a lot. But in Ohio, we have these people who are scum of the earth. That's what I'm going to call them. And they put those heavily tinted covers over their license plates, which are super illegal. And I see them everywhere. Like, nobody's getting in trouble for these.

00:37:38 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 1:

They have to be getting pulled over. I get pulled. I had tint on my windows on my car, and I would get pulled over all the time.

00:37:43 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys have the tinted license plate covers? I know what you're talking about.

00:37:46 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I've seen them at O-O-O-O-Reilly.

00:37:51 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Auto parts.

00:37:52 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 3:

What teamwork, you guys?

00:37:57 - 00:38:07 | Speaker 1:

No, I've seen them before, and I thought to myself, who's buying those things? And what are you buying? I know people like to black out their car with tints and stuff, but I'm like, that just looks shady.

00:38:07 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 3:

They don't pay tolls. They don't pay those speeding tickets from cameras, and they can hit and run, and you can't get their license plate. Those are terrible people.

00:38:17 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 4:

This is a true hoopty because I also see like bungee cords tying stuff together on the inside. Zoom in. There's like those hooks. What do you call them? Like the clips and bungee cords.

00:38:27 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 3:

I also have no room to talk because at one point the car that I was driving had been, and I'm not kidding you, totaled. And it was held together by duct tape. So instead of getting a new airbag for the steering wheel, they just duct taped it closed for me.

00:38:44 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here's the deal. Well, we got to find the listener that has the biggest hoopsie that's listening to the show right now. Which car is held together more by duct tape or bungee cables like Shannon was talking about? Or what else would people use to hold it together?

00:39:00 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 4:

Do you have to get into the driver's seat by going through the passenger door? Oh, yeah.

00:39:05 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, my brother got into his friend's car and just stepped through the rust hole in the middle of the floorboards and in the ground.

00:39:11 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 4:

Can you not reverse? Like, what is it?

00:39:15 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Katie, hi What is your car looking like, Katie?

00:39:33 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's a car I used to have A couple years ago And it was a 2010 Ford Focus And because of my job It took a lot of wear and tear So I ended up the ignition like the key stopped reading so my mechanic had to wire a wire from the engine to the front of my car so i could flip a start switch oh my god you hot wired your own car i did and then it was so bad though because

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 3:

it kept running the starter i leave it on and i burnt out like three starters so then it became

00:40:05 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 1:

a push to start oh geez that's you know what the the beauty of that is that's now modern day technology the push to start everybody's got those in their cars except for you have to have a key fob to start it's not uh the way that you did it what's going on uh dawn how you doing hi we're good how are you doing good we're looking for the biggest hoopty you got one that's bigger than the

00:40:25 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 4:

the hoopty that Megan saw all duct taped together well no but I have a back in my hoopty days um have a hack for a broken uh taillight if you take a red solo cup use the bottom of it cut it out you

00:40:40 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 1:

can manipulate it oh really wow that's a hack you had a red solo cup for the broken taillight and it actually would show like when you'd blink or turn it on or anything it well it was red uh you

00:40:55 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 4:

know so the red side was out so what it did is it just didn't allow the bulb to uh shine white

00:41:02 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 1:

through the broken area which you would have gotten a ticket probably for right yeah but it's

00:41:06 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 4:

the red still illuminated so that's great genius awesome no that is awesome seriously that is a

00:41:13 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 1:

smart person right there uh somebody was telling me that cars are worth so much today that uh Even that car, which, by the way, Megan, that car was a Saturn. They don't even make those cars anymore. Just driving around in a hooptie Saturn. What's up, Tracy?

00:41:27 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning. What's up? I had a... First of all, I'd like to say I love the show. I listen every morning.

00:41:35 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, you're not allowed to say that. I'm sorry. You're out of line.

00:41:40 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 2:

I have changed my route to taking the kids home because the station started messing up. Did you really? I had to listen. Oh, my gosh, Tracy. Thank you.

00:41:48 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 1:

So are you driving longer because of that?

00:41:51 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 2:

No, it's the same distance.

00:41:53 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 1:

Wow, I love that, though. By the way, you must have a hoopty as far as the radio is concerned because our radio doesn't come in. What's going on?

00:42:01 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 2:

And so my 2011 Ford Focus, I had gotten to an accident once, and so, like, the front bumper was hanging off. And so, like, I found some gum in my car, like, chewing gum, and I chewed it up a little bit and then stuck it to my front bumper and waited for it to dry so that it would stay on until I could get to my mechanic, and then he zip-tied it to the car.

00:42:21 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, good Lord. That's awesome. By the way, it looks good. Don't worry about it, okay? It's very fashionable, and if that's all you got, you got to deal with it.

00:42:34 - 00:42:34 | Unknown:

Yep.

00:42:34 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Thank you. Dakota, your battery was the hooptie part of your car, right?

00:42:40 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it would, like, turn off, or, like, I'd turn my car off, and then I'd go to start the car again, and my car would just be dead. So my brother, who worked on cars and stuff like that, he had to put a kill switch in my car, and I had to turn it on and off all the time.

00:42:56 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my goodness. What a pain in the butt.

00:42:59 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it sucked. And then there was once in my high school parking lot, my car, it was a 99 Honda CRB. It got me from point A to point B. I was very appreciative. I was 16, a car is a car.

00:43:09 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:09 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 3:

So my tire, like, fell out completely because my tie rod, like, gave out. And so my car was just stranded in my high school parking lot, so my cousin had to come fix it then. And I'm, like, panicking, calling my parents, like, the tire came off. What do I do?

00:43:24 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

I've always wondered what happens when you're driving if the tire comes off.

00:43:29 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 3:

It's like I wasn't driving. It made some weird noise, so I stopped.

00:43:33 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:33 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 3:

And then when I backed up to, like, see if it was still doing it, the tire just gave out. Oh, my gosh.

00:43:38 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 1:

That would be wild. All of a sudden you're driving and the tire just flies right off your car. Carrie, this doesn't sound like it's very safe, but how would you have to drive?

00:43:47 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 5:

I would have to hold my driver's door shut if I was going over 45 miles. Oh, my God. That would terrify me that it would just fly open.

00:43:56 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 1:

Why at 45 miles an hour?

00:43:59 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. It was like once I hit 50, it was starting to get rickety. I think I was just falling off the hinges. Oh, my God. I also want to say I've been listening to you guys for over a decade. I went to school with your kids. Did you? Where did you go to school? Math homework. I went to West Bloomfield School.

00:44:17 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Did you just say that you did my son's math homework?

00:44:22 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 5:

No, I cheated off of his homework. Who, Jacob's? Not Joe's.

00:44:27 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's no way you're cheating off of Joe. Because if that's the case, you're still in middle school.

00:44:34 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 5:

Jacob was a farty pan.

00:44:36 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 1:

Jacob's a good kid. We're driving. Luke and I are driving to have dinner with him tomorrow.

00:44:41 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, tell him that Carrie said hi from middle and high school.

00:44:45 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 1:

I will. Take care of yourself.

00:44:48 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:44:48 - 00:44:53 | Speaker 1:

Bye, Carrie. How am I supposed to live life and love in these conditions?

00:44:53 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 5:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:45:00 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 4:

I just want to use your love tonight.

00:45:13 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

I love Mojo.

00:45:16 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to lose your love tonight. Kudos to Mojo. Oh, my goodness. Shannon was just telling us off the air here That she got made fun of for an outfit that she wore

00:45:35 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Sure did Not by Instagram

00:45:37 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it wasn't By the way, it wasn't social media haters It wasn't trolls It wasn't the trolls that was doing it

00:45:43 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't the Karens You know who it was?

00:45:45 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 4:

Who?

00:45:46 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 2:

My own flesh and blood

00:45:49 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 4:

One of your sisters?

00:45:51 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 2:

Nope

00:45:51 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

00:45:52 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

My sweet dad, Tim Murphy

00:45:54 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on

00:45:56 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 2:

You made fun of me for what I was wearing on Saturday.

00:45:59 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 4:

What were you wearing on Saturday?

00:46:01 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 2:

So my dad's awesome, and he and my stepmom, Chris, were watching Lucy and Smith for me. I had an appearance to do for the radio station. And I came downstairs in high-waisted, wide leg. They're called paper bag waist. So you pull a belt around them, and then they're kind of frilly up here, but they're pretty high. My dad takes one look at me, and he goes, what in the hell are you wearing? you look like you're one of those grandpas who pulls his pants up to his nipples and I was like

00:46:30 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 1:

gee thanks dad I actually thought I looked really cute it was really it was my first time wearing these pants I was really excited to wear them I was like oh my gosh just like Steve Urkel Steve Urkel pulling out you look nice too dad

00:46:44 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 4:

we called your dad here this is something different this is when dad's making fun of their daughters for what they wear usually daughters are making fun of their dads for what they wear Welcome Shannon's dad, the always sweet, the always kind, unless he's commenting on Shannon's outfit. Tim Murphy, everybody.

00:47:01 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Dad. Hi, Chan. How you doing there, Tim? Real good, real good, Mojo. Nice to hear from you again.

00:47:09 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 4:

You know what? It's nice to hear from you, too. And you know what? There are certain fashions that sometimes you just don't, you know, we don't get, right? There are certain things that they wear. But that's, like, the big thing right now, I think. It is. Have you noticed anybody else wearing them besides your daughter? or maybe you'll start noticing them now.

00:47:25 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 3:

I think she was the trial of those pair of pants.

00:47:29 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 4:

The trial.

00:47:31 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 2:

And you did not approve, clearly.

00:47:34 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 3:

Those were the silliest looking things ever, really.

00:47:37 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey, can I ask a fatherly question to you? Was Shannon at all the type of girl that would wear things out of the house when she was younger that you had to say, Nuh-uh, you can't wear that. Nope, not going to do it.

00:47:49 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

that was more of her sister was uh more of the racy type of uh outfits you know exposing too much and such shannon was uh pretty subdued in her fashion sense yeah so uh what's happening to her now i don't know maybe this is like you know one of those midlife crisis what the heck

00:48:08 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 4:

by the way uh tim with that think about this megan they were cute i'll send you a picture

00:48:16 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:48:17 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 4:

That's an outfit, though. You think about it, though. Shannon, you know, she's wearing her pants all the way up. Like, she's wearing, like you said, she was very appropriate with the way she's dressed.

00:48:25 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

It was nice later in the night because I went out with my girlfriends, and I was wearing, like, a tank top. And it did get kind of chilly, and I wasn't wearing a bra, so I just pulled the pants up over my nipples, and it covered up my THL. Come on. Are you serious? I thought you were joking. I swear to God. I thought it was a joke. No, I swear to God. I swear to God. I was sitting at the table, and my friends were dying laughing.

00:48:43 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 4:

Without giving you a wedgie, you can pull your pants up that high.

00:48:45 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 2:

Pretty much. They're very, like, slouchy.

00:48:47 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 4:

Really? Are they comfortable? Like, oversized. I've often wondered this, because everything's high-waisted these days. Is high-waisted comfortable?

00:48:53 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Very. It is? I'm sorry.

00:48:56 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 4:

I know it's very flattering. I mean, I see a lot of, you know, women wearing them, and Chelsea does, too, and I know that she loves them, too, but I don't know if they're comfortable.

00:49:06 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 1:

When you go wear low-rise pants, you constantly feel like you're on the verge of exposing your butt crack. Right.

00:49:12 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Tammy, Shannon's dad's on the phone with us right now. Now, Tim, this is actually perfect for us guys, because as we get older, we're going to start pulling our pants up further and further up to our teats, you know?

00:49:24 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, absolutely. I kind of get to that point where, like, okay, if I wear my pants low, it's like you said, they feel like they're just barely hanging on. And I'm growing a gut now, so I want to hide some of that, so I want to pull the pants over it. That's right. And then I look like, you know, one of those people that have them through the middle of their chest.

00:49:42 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 4:

That's right.

00:49:42 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 3:

The old guys. I was at that point right now.

00:49:44 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 4:

I was the other day I was at the deli by my house and it's like old person capital like in the middle of the afternoon It's like me and like every old person with the person that takes care of them like their nurse or something And I walked inside. I saw this one older man is older Gentlemen, I am telling you, he pulled those things up so high, his nuts were showing. I mean, they were like, it was unbelievable. And I'm like, and actually, he didn't pull them up high. His nurse pulled them up high.

00:50:12 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, he's on trend right now.

00:50:14 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 4:

That's true. That old man. I should say to him, hey, I work with this girl, and she wears pants just like you.

00:50:22 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 3:

Tim, I love you, Dad.

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Shannon. It's nice to hear that.

00:50:26 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 3:

And thank you for watching the kids for me on Saturday. Yeah, what's it like, by the way? You saved me.

00:50:30 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 4:

Are those kids, are maniacs? Tim, I see your grandkids all the time on social media, and that the little one, Smith, he looks like he's all over the place.

00:50:41 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 5:

He's a blast. That kid is so much fun. But it was a little too quiet that Saturday. We were sitting there like, hey, it's been quiet for a little while. And that's when he was giving the trim to that fringe thing upstairs, and that was hysterical.

00:50:53 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 3:

So, Lucy, I had like a sparkly garland in Lucy's room, because that's where she does virtual school. so I put all these little banners and garlands up to make it. Kind of cheery for her to spend so much time in there. Well, Smed, that's what my dad's referring to. When it's quiet, you know this, if you have kids and it's quiet, something is not good, like no bueno. He had found a pair of scissors and cut up every single little banner, particularly the gold sparkly one in Lucy's room, to make confetti. And I said, dude, why do you do that? I don't know, just because I wanted to. Dad, was it not everywhere?

00:51:24 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, yeah. It was all the way down the steps, on the floor in the kitchen. It just stuck to him, too.

00:51:32 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 3:

We all just walked upstairs, and I looked at my dad, and he just burst out laughing.

00:51:36 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 4:

Although, I've got to be honest with you, Tim. Don't be offended by this. That's not a very good job babysitting if you don't notice that the kid's playing with scissors.

00:51:43 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 3:

No, I was home at that time, so it was kind of my fault. Oh, you were home?

00:51:45 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 5:

Hey. That's on the mom.

00:51:48 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait. Once she walks back in the door, it's all on her. All bets are off. Yeah. Hold on a second. Bridget, you there? Hey, is it Bridget?

00:52:03 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Bridget.

00:52:04 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 4:

Bridget, okay. That's the weirdest way I've ever seen the name Bridget spelled. But Bridget, what's going on?

00:52:12 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 1:

I just wanted to say I saw Shannon at Smoothie King on Saturday, and her pants were very cute.

00:52:17 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, tell her dad. He's on the phone with us right now. This is Shannon's dad, Tim.

00:52:21 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 5:

so Bridget you thought that those were stylists right

00:52:26 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't think she could Bridget Bridget could you could you hear Shannon's dad talking yeah oh she hung up the phone Tim oh she got she got offended Tim I don't know a party line here I got a little party line uh any more any more stuff we can get out of uh Shannon's dad about Shannon growing up over the years?

00:52:48 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 3:

It was so nice to talk to you, Dad.

00:52:49 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 4:

Let's talk. Tim, tell us a story. Tell us, what is one story that you'll always remember about your daughter growing up?

00:52:57 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez, there's so many. Just when she'd say things that would, you know, such a little kid says it. It's inappropriate normally when a little kid says it. It's just funny in a way laughs. I mean, when she announced in the Secretary of State that she had to poop and it was right on the edge, you know. Everybody in the place could hear it.

00:53:16 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. She said she had the poop, and the poop was on the edge?

00:53:21 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and then she made a face and a noise, like, ooh, ooh, ooh. And everybody back then, you just stood in line. It wasn't like it is now sitting in chairs. You just stood in line, and everybody could hear it, and everybody started laughing. Wait a second.

00:53:34 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 4:

They could actually hear her grunting to make the poop?

00:53:38 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. No, no, she was just making the noise by showing me that this was an emergency.

00:53:44 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Tim, I'm going to tell you, some things never change. Because during commercials, Shannon does the same thing.

00:53:52 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

Somebody made a stinky. Hey, I have no shame.

00:53:55 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 4:

All right. Tim, nice to have you on. Shannon's dad, Tim Murphy, everybody. I love it.

00:54:01 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:54:04 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 3:

That's a big story this morning. Ariana Grande sharing a message, an important message, with her millions of TikTok followers yesterday. She wanted to address some concerns that she's been hearing about her own body. Listen to this.

00:54:22 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 2:

I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people's bodies, no matter what. If you think you're saying something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is, healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not sexy, I don't, we just shouldn't, And we should really work towards not doing that as much.

00:54:42 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 3:

And she said, by the way, what we've all seen from her in the past in terms of during shows or on the red carpets was her most unhealthy.

00:54:52 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

The body that you've been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was...

00:55:00 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 1:

on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest points of my life when i looked the way you consider my healthy but that in fact wasn't my healthy mike and megan

00:55:15 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 4:

i i know we talked about this yesterday and mikey you and i were talking about it over email but fans are concerned that she looks too skinny i feel like she's always been so itty bitty

00:55:26 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

Uh, she does. And I feel bad now saying this after her, her saying that, but she does look a little skinnier than normal. I feel bad saying that. I feel bad saying that, but she does look skinnier and it's sad that she has to even come out and explain herself.

00:55:40 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. So if you're wondering what this was all about, it specifically was that she did have one final message for her fans.

00:55:47 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Sending you guys a lot of love and I think you're beautiful no matter what you're going through no matter what weight no matter what how you like to do your makeup these days no matter what cosmetic procedures you've had or not or anything yeah I just think you're beautiful.

00:56:07 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 4:

This is a great story. So the jeans that Taylor Swift was wearing for her first single girl outing have already sold out. And some Swifties are already looking into a deeper meaning behind her fashion choice. So she wore a pair of butterfly patch cropped jeans from a brand called Area when she was out with Jack Antonoff in New York City on Monday night. Now, the pants come complete with this bedazzled butterfly on one of the thighs. Price tag on these things They're not cheap $673 Who do you think I am? For the jeans Okay, they were still available online yesterday morning Because I'm always curious And I check Well, not today They are completely sold out everywhere What? And fans Yeah, isn't that nuts? What? Honestly, they're not that cute either They're very expensive They're also not that cute But fans hunted for clues And they're saying that the butterfly may symbolize rebirth and starting over And that's why she chose these particular jeans to wear out and about. She could sell anything.

00:57:08 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 3:

She could literally sell anything. And there would be a pretend Easter egg on it. And everybody would just go and buy it. Yeah.

00:57:15 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of Taylor, by the way, Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift themed promposals are like the rage right now. The biggest thing going this year in high schools around America, according to Google. Google Trends says those are the top two promposal ideas that high school students have been Googling this year. Nick Carter is being sued for sexual assault and battery by former Dream singer Melissa Schumann. This is a case that's been going on for quite some time. Melissa alleges that way back in 2003, she was 18. Nick Carter was 22, and she says that he performed oral sex on her against her will before forcing her to reciprocate. Nick then allegedly proceeded to take her virginity, even though she told him no and told him that she was saving herself for marriage. She first accused Nick of raping her at his home in November of 2017, saying all of the Harvey Weinstein allegations, the Me Too movement, that was all a very big trigger for her. The following February, so 2018, she filed a report with the Santa Monica Police Department, but the L.A. County District Attorney's Office declined to prosecute because statute of limitations had expired. However, a California law that went into effect just earlier this year revived sexual assault claims and extended the statute of limitations for reporting them, and that's why this is all coming to the surface again. For the record, Nick has repeatedly denied Melissa's allegations of non-consensual sexual contact. And in February, he was in the Dirty Remember because he filed a countersuit against not only Melissa Schumann, this girl, but also a woman named Shannon Ruth, who in December of 2022 sued him for allegedly raping her on a tour bus in the early 2000s. And Nickelback apparently just saw the video of Lizzo defending them. This is from a few years ago, and now they're responding on social media.

00:59:10 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 2:

Why do people not like Nickelback? I feel like Nickelback gets way too much s***. I think that this is a jam. Love what I really am. It has a beautiful climax. Here we go. Five, six, seven, eight, climax. People hate on them for no reason. I like you. Sorry. I don't know the words, but everybody knows this melody.

00:59:32 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 4:

So the Nickelback guy has tweeted Thank you Lizzo for the kind words Open invite, any show, any time Maybe see you in Houston this summer

00:59:41 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 3:

Feel like Nickelback, Guy Fieri And there are other things too That people just don't like And there's no real reason why you don't like them

00:59:47 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 4:

You will die on that hill

00:59:49 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, absolutely

01:00:32 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 5:

oh god no winking um it can be it can be here's what i say about winking it is there's a fine

01:00:41 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 4:

line between creepy and sexy okay i agree you have to know how to wink like there's there's a way to

01:00:47 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 1:

do it like yeah so uh winking uh it's quick it's discreet uh suggestive in some uh regards um uh you know there's like waving and smiling but that's like almost too obvious winking is kind of like a little bit more subtle than that uh and the reason i asked this is because i went out for lunch with uh my uh my best buddy and actually a guy who shannon used to date back in the uh the days and the um the server that uh that was there very nice uh person at red coat uh like she was flirty no like well you look you look uh you look like you're uh you look like you're having a great day you look you look really good today oh okay so she was complimenting and he goes like this he goes uh and she goes would you oh she goes you look really great today would you like to would you like to have a diet coke or something like that because you know she knows who him and he He looks, he goes, oh, no, no, no, no, thanks. And he does this thing.

01:01:48 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, is that how he did it?

01:01:49 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, I can't wink.

01:01:50 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh. No, yeah, you can't wink. For those that don't know this, I can't. It is the weirdest thing ever. He looks like someone poked him in the eye. I can't wink.

01:01:56 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 1:

I look like I'm stuck there.

01:01:58 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:01:58 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, I did not realize this, but did you know that there's a majority of people that cannot wink?

01:02:03 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:02:04 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 1:

So I go, wait, wait.

01:02:07 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 5:

You saw him wink.

01:02:07 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 1:

I said, did you just wink? And he goes, no, no, no, no, no. And I go, what do you mean? I just saw you wink. and he goes, no, it must have something in my eye. I go, you just did this wink thing.

01:02:16 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, he's getting old.

01:02:17 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 1:

You seem like you'd like winking.

01:02:18 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 5:

I love it.

01:02:19 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 1:

You do?

01:02:20 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 4:

I love it. I think it shows a level of confidence because a lot of people don't wink. So when a guy does, he feels really confident. Yeah.

01:02:31 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 5:

And I love it. See, I would rather, if a guy is trying to be flirty, I would rather have him flash me a great smile.

01:02:38 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 4:

I thought she was about to say flash you something else.

01:02:40 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 1:

I'd like him to show his penis to me. What did you say about scowls?

01:02:45 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever have somebody wink at you with a scowl? Like just an aggressive, like, oh, here you go. It's always paired with a nice smile.

01:02:52 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:02:52 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 1:

It's always kind of like a little like...

01:02:54 - 01:02:56 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I just feel like you need to have a cigar.

01:02:57 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 1:

Like a smart aleck-y type of a little thing. Like a little like, ah, you know.

01:03:01 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 5:

Let me see your... Wait, wait, hang on. Hang on. I got a video. I got a video. Hold on. And I got to put it on Instagram. Hang on, hang on.

01:03:07 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Do I take my glass off?

01:03:09 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Three, two, one. Is it a boomerang? No, it's not a boomerang. Oh.

01:03:13 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 1:

I can't do it.

01:03:14 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 4:

I can't do that one.

01:03:16 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Do a sexy one.

01:03:17 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Why is it? No, like, really try. Like, really try. Okay, you're flirting. Here we go. Come on, Ruth.

01:03:21 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 1:

I swear to God, I'm trying. I can't do it. Talia, what do you think? Are you into the wink?

01:03:26 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 3:

I think it's cute, but I was just calling because I wanted to say, as we all just sat here and winked to ourselves. Yes.

01:03:33 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 4:

I really tried to.

01:03:35 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 1:

Right? That's true.

01:03:35 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 3:

You know, I'm staring at my computer working from home winking now.

01:03:38 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do women wink? Do they ever wink at guys or at other women?

01:03:43 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 3:

I got one funny story. So my daughter took a video of me one time when she was really little. You know how your kids just are recording and you don't even know it? And I looked at her and I winked at her, but it's the most awkward wink I've ever seen. Like I can't post a video. I think it's the funniest thing ever. I can't do it either.

01:03:58 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Mojo in the morning. What's up, Natalie?

01:04:01 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hi. I just wanted to talk about the winking situation.

01:04:05 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:04:05 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 2:

so my boyfriend does two really cute things for me um he'll squeeze my hand three times whenever we're out at a movie or at parents i love you and that means i love you i love it yep and then he also winks at me um whenever we're at family events or what have you without getting all mushy-gushy type of uh ordeal he'll just wink and i know that means that i love you

01:04:29 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 5:

okay well that's sweet you guys are already in a relationship we get it you're in love i was just

01:04:32 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 1:

about to say hello all right has he ever just had something in his eye somebody said how about the finger oh i love it i love it oh my god oh that's funny good god uh what's up mojo in the morning show hello hey good morning chris what's going on Hey, man, I think it's really based on how long you hold a wink, because if it's more than three seconds, it gets a little weird and creepy. Yeah.

01:05:07 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 2:

If it's more than a second.

01:05:10 - 01:05:11 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:05:11 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 4:

I'm trying to think. I think, honestly, I think that three seconds seems like it's a lot.

01:05:16 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

That's like your contact has moved. Yeah.

01:05:18 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 1:

No, no, three seconds is a lot, but a very quick one-second hit is kind of like in and out, and then it doesn't leave a stain with you, but I think it leaves a stain at three.

01:05:27 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:05:28 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:05:28 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 2:

So Ellen brought up a good point. We have a female that works with us Who winks a lot And she's so cute when she does it And she does it to guys and girls Really? I don't think I've ever had She's winked at you a thousand times before Has she? Because that's like her thing And she's cute when she does it

01:05:46 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 4:

I have never noticed that I don't think there are any new I thought she had a lazy eye I was like what the heck Yesterday on the show we were talking about how Reese thinks that his neighbor 60-year-old neighbor saw him naked. Did you end up bumping into the 60-year-old neighbor, Reese, after the show was over with? I haven't seen her yet. She wasn't sitting outside of the window waiting for some more?

01:06:08 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 3:

It's bound to happen soon.

01:06:10 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So I'm having a conversation with Mike after the show, and we were talking about topics from the show yesterday. And, Mike, you said that you've got an interesting neighbor situation going on right now, and Mike thinks that his neighbor is hitting on him.

01:06:28 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't know that she's trying to seduce me or anything. I honestly don't think that the neighbors before us ever went in their backyard. Like, I don't think they hung out in their backyard a lot. And the way that our backyards are set up, they kind of look into each other's backyards. So my neighbor, so I don't think she realizes what she's doing. So she has one of those decks that are like above ground. So like she, you could see if I'm in my backyard, I can see up into their deck. so this was last summer it happened more you know because it just got warm on now but she would walk out in a robe all the time and like i'd be back there with the kids or mowing the lawn or doing something and and she just walk out in a robe and like the angle of the deck if i look over there i can see up her robe oh yeah yeah whoa yes and she's not so i'm like like walking around the corner but she does it more than once like it's like a thing like where She just walks out in a row. Does she seem to come outside a lot when you're outside? I never really pinpointed it. But, I mean, I've been out there, and she's done it more than once. I don't think she's doing it for me. I think that, again, honestly, I don't know.

01:07:42 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 4:

So let me ask you this question. One time it's a mistake when you notice that. How many times are you looking up?

01:07:49 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 3:

I've only looked up twice. Twice? Once was because I was like, ah. And then, like, I'll look up if somebody's there. Sure. You know what I mean? I'm not looking.

01:07:58 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 2:

It's natural reaction.

01:07:59 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm not looking. How long are you looking up? Quickly. Very, very quickly. Do we all buy that? No. Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate the support of this. Everybody just complete silence. That one person.

01:08:15 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 4:

I think that maybe she's trying to send you a message. If she's coming outside when you're out there cutting the lawn, she's out in a robe naked. Which, by the way, that is kind of interesting I know she's got herself covered up But if you're Below ground like you are If you're lower on your grass And all you have to do is look up You can look right up in her robe Is she sending a message? Have any listeners ever had this happen? Or do you have a theory on Mike's neighbor here? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548

01:08:46 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 3:

I gotta imagine she would Sense that That somebody's outside Yeah, or at least look around, especially if you walk out in a robe.

01:08:55 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 2:

Like, I've gone outside in my robe before to, like, get the mail or get a package or whatever that's on my porch, but, like, nobody could see up it. You know what I mean?

01:09:04 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 4:

Is she nice to look at? What's that? Is she nice to look at?

01:09:09 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. No? No? No? I don't know how to answer that. You don't know how to answer that question, do you? Did you already ask this question?

01:09:15 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Is she wearing undies in the robe?

01:09:18 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't tell because I didn't look fast enough, or long enough, I mean. Oh, okay.

01:09:23 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Good answer. Come on. By the way, your answer with mine is one that is going to get you in trouble. If I ask you, is she nice to look at?

01:09:31 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't trying to be mean either.

01:09:33 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 4:

If you say, oh, she's a pretty lady or whatever, then your wife gets upset. If you say no, like you just said, then your neighbor now gets upset.

01:09:41 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for setting me up because there was no way to answer that where I wasn't being mean in some way.

01:09:47 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Right. Mike, people are texting, is this the neighbor that you tried to steal the girl cover from?

01:09:53 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. No, no. That was a few houses down.

01:09:55 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 4:

And this is not the neighbor with the small TV.

01:09:58 - 01:09:58 | Unknown:

No.

01:09:59 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 3:

No, that's my favorite neighbor. in the world okay all right was mike or i'm sorry uh tom has a question for mike uh our mike here

01:10:05 - 01:10:09 | Speaker 1:

what's going on tom all right good morning i'm just wondering if you might need a roommate

01:10:09 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 3:

what do you my what do you think tom do you think that she's doing this on purpose do you think this

01:10:16 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 1:

is her way to seduce the neighbor i had the same thing happen when i moved into my new house i had a single um middle-aged woman now it just happened to see me every time i come out she'd have to come out of the road and ask me to fix her gutter or can I come and look at the plumbing? I know what it was. Nothing happened.

01:10:34 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 3:

Are you a single guy or are you in a relationship like Mike is?

01:10:37 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 1:

While I was dating, my girlfriend was living with me. She was kind of ballsy for doing that.

01:10:43 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Was your girlfriend upset?

01:10:46 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I heard about it all the time. She didn't blame me. She just called her whatever she called her.

01:10:53 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. Alright, well, thank you for the call. We appreciate that. Hi. How you doing, Beth? Beth?

01:11:10 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

01:11:11 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Hi. What's up?

01:11:12 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 2:

Sorry. I was trying to get off of Bluetooth because she couldn't hear me.

01:11:16 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no worries. What's going on?

01:11:17 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to ask Mike, does he think she might be a swinger and she's trying to recruit you and Allie?

01:11:24 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 4:

I feel like that's a stretch. I don't know. Honestly, I don't think so.

01:11:29 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Listen, you never know, Mike. You just never know. You know what? Somebody tried to pick us up at a – my husband and I up at a poker table once, and it was not obvious until later we figured it out.

01:11:41 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 3:

How did they try to pick you guys up? Yeah.

01:11:44 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, we sat down because we were waiting for a reservation, and she kept ordering drinks, and then she kept trying to order us drinks, And then she kept saying, I have this room upstairs all empty and lonely. I'm just here by myself. What are you guys doing later? We were like, we have a reservation. Goodbye.

01:12:03 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 3:

This is a different one than having somebody pick you up in a casino or a bar or whatever it is that you're in. This is your neighbor. Could you imagine living next to a neighbor that wants to swing with you?

01:12:14 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:12:15 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 3:

No. That would get awkward, wouldn't it?

01:12:19 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, good luck, Mike, figuring it out.

01:12:22 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Thanks.

01:12:23 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 3:

Mike, do you have to cut the lawn anytime soon?

01:12:26 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 4:

I do in the next couple days, but it hasn't happened this year. So maybe she caught on and she's not going to do it, I hope.

01:12:35 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Is there a consistent day that you always mow your lawn? Like, do you do it on the weekends or do you do it during the week?

01:12:42 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 4:

It's not consistent. It's random. That would be very telltale.

01:12:45 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

I would make sure that you mow your lawn when Allie's home.

01:12:48 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 4:

though yeah i'll just have her walk beside me as i'm yes exactly actually you know what you need

01:12:55 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 3:

and i've never thought that guys should ever wear these things you need a visor no you need a visor so you can't look like lady repellent you know you know you know how they put things on dogs when dogs have surgery so that they can't move their you need a cone you need to wear one of those mike just to protect yourself so that you can always prove that you weren't

01:13:22 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 4:

looking up uh all right mike from mojo in the morning he may have never made the team but he was always a good ball boy i think somebody said balls i heard balls i heard balls can't say balls on the radio gotta have balls do that this is mojo in the morning um all right it's mojo in the

01:13:38 - 01:14:12 | Speaker 3:

morning so i've got kind of a dilemma here and i'm going to ask you guys your thoughts on this i um i love there's there's a particular restaurant that i really really love and i've loved it for a long time they have one in detroit i don't think they have one in grand rapids or toledo but if they they should open one up in both of those cities because they're so good have you guys ever heard of a restaurant called ruth's chris oh yeah yes you have one here they do have a ruth's chris in grand rapids yeah is it right there is it uh across from uh van andel

01:14:12 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 4:

or where is it? It's right by Mojo's actually. Oh, it is. That's right.

01:14:17 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 3:

I've always gone to the chop house anytime that we've gone out to get steak

01:14:22 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 4:

down there. That you've ever had in your life.

01:14:24 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 3:

They do something. I don't know what it is. I think they honestly, do they put like a stick of butter

01:14:30 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 4:

on top of the thing? And they like sizzle it in the

01:14:32 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 3:

butter. It is so damn good. Have you guys ever been to it? Oh yeah. Nope. Megan, you don't know what you're missing. Mike, explain to Megan

01:14:40 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 4:

why it's so delicious uh they're absolutely right it's one of the the juicy maybe juicy is not the right word but the juiciest steaks in the entire world it's this big thick hunk of meat uh and

01:14:50 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 3:

every single cut is really really good and i just absolutely fall in love with the damn thing i don't know what it is about it and i never get to go to the place you know we've gone out to dinner and stuff but we always end up never choosing that place because it's always like a impossible to get a table sometimes you know they're always kind of busy and stuff in there in detroit they're kind of forgotten they're like in a uh an office building so i always kind of forget oh that's where that place is well here's my thing that's going why am i echoing back at me mike are you playing me back at myself again no i don't think so okay all right i'm i was echoing my echoing back at myself unless i'm unless i'm losing my mind no i heard it too you're good okay thanks um so i am back echoing at myself yeah we're both maybe we're both not sake who's who's who's echoing at me hello hello hello hello hello okay all right if it's you mike i'll come and get you and then i'll stop off the roofs chris if it's me i'll deny it i want to make sure that it goes back at you. So I got kind of a dilemma and I don't know if you guys are the type of people that would do this. So I was invited to go eat at Ruth's Chris. And the only thing that I have to do is sit for a couple of hours at while I'm eating and have conversation with this mortuary company that wants to try to sell me funeral plots and caskets and all of my needs when I die.

01:16:26 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

How did you fall into this?

01:16:28 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea, but I got a thing sent to me that was wonderfully wrapped. It was like one of those things where you open it up and you think, oh my God, what is this thing? And you open it up and it's got a Ruth's Chris gift card that's in it. And I'm like, holy cow, somebody remembered my birthday. And I thought to myself, I'm getting something free for my birthday. So I pull out the card and I rip it off and it says, good for a dinner for two. I'm like, oh, great.

01:16:52 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's expensive there.

01:16:54 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 3:

And then I read the fine print that is on the bottom. Good for a dinner for two after a sit down with the people from, and I can't remember what the hell the mortuary company was. It's a funeral home timeshare. That's exactly what it is.

01:17:07 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 2:

No, do not do it. I'll do it. No. Would you? Oh, yeah. Are you kidding me?

01:17:12 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 3:

So the good news is that you can schedule it to a time that works to your satisfaction. They want to do it. They have to do it Monday through, I think, Thursday because the weekends are probably crazy at that place. And they said I could schedule any time. I could do a lunchtime or I can do a dinnertime. And they say that they'll just sit there and there's no obligation. You don't have to buy anything. You just got to sit there and listen to them. Well, the obligation is.

01:17:35 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 2:

The obligation is they take up 16 hours of your day. I will buy you a gift card to Ruth Chris. So you don't have to go to this From someone who has Accidentally sat through A timeshare presentation

01:17:50 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 3:

Do not do it

01:17:53 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 2:

Me I was young and dumb

01:17:55 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 3:

I thought you were talking about the time Remember I made you sit through the timeshare That one timeshare thing

01:17:59 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 2:

It was a telecommunications company

01:18:04 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 3:

It was a pyramid scheme Pyramid scheme things

01:18:07 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 2:

And I lost $250 Or whatever I lost from you No, but my girlfriend, Julie, and I, this was right when I started here at this radio station, actually. We went to Mexico for like a little girl's trip. And at the airport, this very nice man came up to us and said, do you want a limo to your hotel? And I was like, yes, I do. The whole next day, we sat our butts in a timeshare presentation because we had to. To pay for the limo.

01:18:38 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 3:

It would have been cheaper to actually just pay for the limo.

01:18:40 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 2:

It was terrible.

01:18:42 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 3:

Just like it would have been cheaper just to pay for the Ruth's Chris.

01:18:44 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 2:

My dumb friend fell for it, and now she's stuck with this timeshare she can't get rid of. Oh, she actually bought it? Well, she didn't have to buy it. Oh, she was pressured.

01:18:52 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

They must have been good salespeople.

01:18:54 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 2:

And they fed us drinks. It was bad. Don't do it.

01:18:57 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:18:57 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 2:

I will buy you a steak.

01:18:58 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I'm kind of like Megan in this one here, that it's just sitting there listening to them talk, and honestly, I'd probably be pretty inquisitive. Well, Anna might bring me some radio content. Yeah, Megan?

01:19:10 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 1:

That's what I was thinking. You can voice memo, record the entire thing, just have your phone on the table, and then ask the most inappropriate questions about death to see how uncomfortable you can make these people while eating the best steak of your life. Have you ever been a part of a timeshare presentation, Megan?

01:19:28 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay, I was going to say, because they get you good. You think it's going to be like an hour or two. Right. And then at the end, you're like, oh, one more thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. One more thing. And then nine hours later, you're still, that steak has, but you've pooped out the steak and you are still listening to the presentation. You've already digested your meal. But hear me out.

01:19:46 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 1:

Every time they say, whoa, whoa, one more thing, you go, okay, one more side. So if they have one more thing, you order one more side.

01:19:53 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 3:

I think I'm getting the cream spinach.

01:19:56 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 1:

The mac and cheese sounds delicious. Thank you. I just can only imagine, though, you're sitting there and you're talking about your death and your demise, you know. Excuse me, can you pass the butter, please? You know, and I'm going to have the ribeye. I would get the tomahawk. I don't know if there's a limitation as far as how much you can order, but I think it's that they'll pay for two people. I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, will you do this with me? And Chelsea said, no. She said, same thing that you said about just pay for a meal if you want a meal. But I said, it would be kind of fun. And then I thought, maybe I'll bring a friend or something with. Can you imagine me bringing Jeff Sackwell with, my buddy Jeff Sackwell?

01:20:34 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they would kick you out of there so fast. That's actually the trick.

01:20:38 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 1:

They would say, you got it for free. Get out of here after Jeff was there. Or Megan, I would take you with, too.

01:20:43 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I could be your young wife who's just trying to kick you into that grave.

01:20:48 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, come on, let's do it. David, what do you think about this? Should I do it for the free meal? You're damn right, Mojo.

01:20:56 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 2:

Joe, you go in there and get the free meal, you wait an hour, and you just bounce. You just don't take any other answer. You just stand up and leave. Thank them for the meal and gone. I've done this many times. Really?

01:21:11 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 1:

What's the best things that you've gotten from one of these little timeshare type of things?

01:21:16 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 2:

Steak dinners.

01:21:18 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:21:19 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

How many boring safety meetings or company meetings have you sat through? Did they feed you a very nice steak dinner? That is so true.

01:21:26 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 1:

That is so true I've done a lot of boring meetings with sales people

01:21:30 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 4:

And we get just pizza Or little Tommy's

01:21:34 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 1:

Big Tommy's

01:21:36 - 01:21:37 | Speaker 4:

However big or little he is

01:21:37 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 2:

Mojo I'll be your friend

01:21:40 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 1:

There you go That's right I'll bring you with and then what we'll do Is we'll both excuse ourselves to have to go to the bathroom And we'll go right to the valet and get our car And get the hell out of there

01:21:50 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm being straight up I'm leaving I'm not interested Thanks for the steak

01:21:54 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 3:

I like that Hear me out at the end I start crying And I go you think he's going to die And then just have a Total meltdown

01:22:04 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 1:

Alright well thank you for the call buddy I appreciate it I like 248 says It's a pre-selected meal They'll give you chicken No come on You order steak and you order it bloody I want my steak bloody I'm going to use this product That you're selling me as soon as I possibly can So give me the highest cholesterol thing that you have on your menu. You know what? Maybe what I'll do, Mike, maybe I'll go through this process and I'll see if I can get them to do it in Grand Rapids with you. I would love to. I'll do 8 million. I do meetings all the time. Megan, if they had one in Toledo, I'd do it with you unless you want to drive up here.

01:22:44 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

I will drive up, too. Yes, I'll drive up. I will drive up. Okay.

01:22:48 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 1:

You would do it just for a free meal?

01:22:50 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 3:

Just for the content.

01:22:52 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 1:

What would be better? Be honest with me on this. sitting through a timeshare talk about your funeral or having to go to lunch with Steve Gabbara from Sotford?

01:23:02 - 01:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'd much rather go out with Steve Gabbara from Sotford and Holly where he's got massive deals on his life.

01:23:10 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 2:

If you think you win them over with cash or food, you're right.

01:23:14 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:23:16 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. So you witnessed a little flirtation fueling up yesterday. at Kroger, huh?

01:23:25 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 4:

It was so brilliant. So it's actually at a shell gas station, but you know, shell gas stations, some of them accept Kroger points, Kroger fuel points, okay? So I'm filling up my SUV, and there is a guy who is at the pump, like right across from me, filling up his car. And all of a sudden, this girl rolls up. There was like a kind of a line to, like there was a wait to get to a gas pump. So she pulls up behind him to wait for essentially his spot, and they start talking, and the first thing that she says to him was, how many, she asked him, hey, how many cents off a gallon do you have? And he said he was getting 40 cents off a gallon. So she starts flirting hardcore with him. At one point, they did even exchange numbers, and she finagled her way to him letting her use his Kroger fuel points so she could get $0.40 a gallon. Wow. So they exchanged numbers. He goes away. She pulls up, and she fuels up her car with Kroger fuel points that were that guy's and got $0.40 off per gallon. It was brilliant.

01:24:39 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 1:

If you're a single man or woman looking for somebody, you just need to get Kroger fuel points. That's it?

01:24:45 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 4:

that did it, but I'm like, he's a dummy, and she totally used him. I took a picture of it happening because it was so funny. I'm like, but she's so smart.

01:24:54 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 1:

That is so good to get gas. And you know what I call that? I call that.

01:25:00 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 4:

Ask for gas. Remember? We said we were talking about that. Dating just for the chance to get gas.

01:25:07 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:25:09 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 4:

So it's interesting. I was wondering if this is the case. And I don't want to do this because Kroger, I am the voice of Kroger. Me and Jay are on the overhead. And I don't want Jay to get 100% of my voice work.

01:25:23 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:25:23 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 4:

But if you get 40 cents off a gallon of gas.

01:25:27 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 6:

You've done a lot of shopping.

01:25:29 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 4:

I do a lot of shopping at Kroger. I actually, just the other day, I ended up getting less than that. But it was still a good amount. It was over $0.30 a gallon off. So if I am fueling up, if somebody pulls up behind me and I don't put the pump all the way back, can I fuel their car up and still get that same discount at that same price?

01:25:50 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 6:

What do you mean?

01:25:51 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 4:

So once you use your points, your points are done, right?

01:25:55 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 6:

Well, because the transaction's done.

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the transaction's done.

01:25:57 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:25:58 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 4:

Don't kill the transaction. If I want to, like, what is, somebody Google, what's the max I can do on Kroger? Because I may actually sit at Kroger with hot women walking up. Can I pump you?

01:26:12 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, this is funny because he stayed to help her get all situated before he left. And that's when they exchanged numbers. I'm not joking.

01:26:20 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 4:

I thought he just gave his phone number to her and then she used the phone number. Yes, this was like a legit thing. No, he stayed and pumped her.

01:26:25 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, my God. Well, he didn't pump her.

01:26:27 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 7:

That is so intimate. But he helped her get the pump started, and then he drove away. Oh. That is, by the way. It was really cute.

01:26:39 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 4:

That is a pump hoe right there.

01:26:41 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 7:

I mean.

01:26:42 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing.

01:26:43 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 7:

That's a smart lady. Yeah, Costco hoe.

01:26:46 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, if somebody has a Costco membership, you'll use their membership? What, do you give them a little kiss on the cheek or something for it?

01:26:53 - 01:26:54 | Speaker 3:

I'll send feed pics.

01:26:55 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 4:

Send feed pics.

01:26:57 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 1:

In bulk.

01:26:57 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Michelle, what's happening?

01:27:00 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 1:

Hey, it's 35 gallons, but who's going to pay for it? So my husband and I do it. I pull to one side, he pulls to the other, he pumps the gas in his car or my car. Once you get to 35 gallons, it stops.

01:27:13 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay. It goes back to the normal price.

01:27:16 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 1:

It goes, no, it's a pump just stops because then you have to start over. But if you leave the pump open and you put your credit card in and the next person pulls up, you're paying for their gas.

01:27:26 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really?

01:27:28 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 1:

Their credit card is still active.

01:27:31 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 4:

But unless you close out the transaction.

01:27:33 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 1:

Right. Unless you close it out and then your points are done. Yeah.

01:27:36 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 4:

I just saw this, by the way, Michelle. Gas prices are so high that now credit card companies have changed their $100 max on the credit card hold up to $150.

01:27:48 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 6:

It's $175.

01:27:49 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 4:

Or $175.

01:27:50 - 01:27:52 | Speaker 6:

It's $175. You'll see the charge go through. Yeah.

01:27:52 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 4:

So they will, they, because they have to, now some gas tanks take, you know, some people can fill up big trucks with a lot of gas. Sean, what's happening?

01:28:03 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, buddy?

01:28:04 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 4:

How you doing, man?

01:28:06 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so, I don't know, she's saying there's a limit. It says 35 gallons.

01:28:10 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:28:11 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, my sister and I will fill both of our cars up. He fills his up and takes off.

01:28:16 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 4:

And you go past 35 gallons?

01:28:19 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, every time. And it never stops.

01:28:23 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 4:

Really? You guys are sneaky. Hold on a second. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Nope. Hold on. Hold on a second. I have to bust you. Sean, I work for Kroger. I'm the announcement man. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you, Sean. You have just lost your Kroger card for a month. We're putting you on Kroger probation. Oh, that's fantastic. All right. You are not allowed to go to Kroger. Rachel, call Rachel over to Kroger. We're going to put this guy in Kroger police. Kroger jail.

01:29:00 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 3:

We're going to a different one then.

01:29:02 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 4:

We know them all. I know them all. You now have to shop at Meijer, you cheap bastard. Thanks for the call, buddy.

01:29:13 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 3:

You guys have a great day.

01:29:14 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day. We'll see you.

01:29:16 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 2:

Traffic is a blessing and a curse. It makes it hard to get anywhere, but it's a great excuse to not go anywhere. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:29:27 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 7:

Lots of people have been wondering about this, including myself, if you are a fan of Yellowstone, which I think all of us on the show are. Megan, have you watched it? No? You think it's boring. That's right. I thought it was... Slow.

01:29:39 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, just poorly written. I mean, I was laughing during the first episode, and I don't think that was supposed to be funny.

01:29:46 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well... No, hey, if you like it, you do. I can't stop staring at Riff. Riff? I just said Riff. Riff, I love Riff.

01:29:56 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 7:

Well, one of the stars of the show, Dawn Olivieri, said she expects...

01:30:00 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 2:

Kevin Costner's character, John Dutton, to leave the series, which has been long rumored. She plays Sarah Atwood, by the way, on the show, and she plays Claire Dutton in the prequel 1883. And she seemed to drop a little hint, actually a big hint, that the writer and creator, Taylor Sheridan, is pretty likely going to deliver a shocking death for John Dutton. And this comes amid lots and lots of rumors that Kevin Costner has asked to cut back on his Yellowstone shooting schedule drastically and leave the series in order to focus on some of his own film projects. And so she was speaking at this big festival in L.A. about the rumors of Kevin's exit. And Dawn said, sometimes we have to own the fact that nothing is forever and impermanence is the single thing we can count on and that life is like that. And so to me, it was like, yeah, he's

01:30:52 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 4:

out. I know Mojo loves this show too, but do you feel like this is some kind of plan to make people anticipate a death and then be super surprised when it doesn't happen and just

01:31:02 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 3:

kind of... No, I think he's done. You think?

01:31:04 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That sucks. That really does

01:31:06 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 3:

suck. I also, I want to know what really happened. Because you know

01:31:10 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 2:

something went down. Yeah, the show was way too big for him to just be like, yeah, I'm going to go. I actually want to go do something else. Yeah, absolutely.

01:31:16 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 3:

Something happened and we're going to find out and I am thrilled for that day.

01:31:20 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Big news in the country music world Well, Granger Smith said he's out. He announced yesterday that he's stepping away from music to focus on ministry. He's going to conclude his music career with his Like a River tour, which is named after his late son, River Kelly, who, God, it still just hurts my heart. He died in an accidental drowning. He was just three years old a couple of years ago. The tour, I believe, kicks off tomorrow, runs through July. But Granger wrote on social media, this summer will be my last tour. I am so encouraged and hopeful and excited and joyful about the next chapter, but to a large extent, I have no idea what it will look like. He continues, I just want to glorify God the best way I can. I want to learn and grow and serve my local church and allow my pastors to equip and affirm those next steps. Lord willing, I want to be used to help people find their purpose. Rihanna has surpassed Katy Perry to become the most followed woman on Twitter. Both women hot on the heels of the third most followed man on Twitter, Justin Bieber, who has more than 113 million followers. Now, they all pale in comparison to the second most followed guy on Twitter, former President Barack Obama, who sits at just under 133 mil. And with no surprise, Elon Musk sitting atop the Twitter mountain with more than 134 million followers. Arnold Schwarzenegger says his L.A. neighborhood has been waiting weeks for a pothole to be fixed. Now, I find this story funny because it's a pothole. A single pothole. Come to Michigan or Ohio where you've got lots of potholes. But he decided to get his hands on some quick creep. Did the work himself with some help from his other neighbors. He tweeted today, after the whole neighborhood has been upset about this giant pothole that's been screwing up cars and bikes for weeks, I went out with my team, and I fixed it. I always say, let's not complain. Let's do something about it. So here you go. You're welcome. You're welcome. It's not a pophole. He weeks have been waiting for this hole to be closed. Thank you.

01:33:30 - 01:33:31 | Unknown:

Bye.

01:33:32 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 4:

Manners into his own hands right there. Have you seen that TikTok trend where people are planting plants in bottles and trees? I love that.

01:33:38 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 2:

I love that. A couple years ago, it was people eating cereal.

01:33:41 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 3:

You don't know anything until you've learned of the Christmas weed on Secor Road here in Toledo. Wait, that's been going on for a long time, right? Well, it all stemmed from one pothole weed that then turned into a celebratory tradition for the past five years. Where we put up fake Christmas weeds. And I'm not, what do you think? It is not like potweed. It is a weed that grew out of the ground that somebody decorated for Christmas.

01:34:08 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 4:

In my head, it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

01:34:11 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 3:

It does. They're cute Monday t-shirts. It's amazing. I have one of them. It's great.

01:34:15 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 4:

That's the best.

01:34:16 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, for all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:34:23 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:34:29 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. So researchers say that our friends are pretty much set for us, that people actually kind of predetermine who our friends are. And that person is your teacher that you have when you first start school. This is a pretty wild story. The researchers say assigned seats in school goes a long way towards determining children's friendships. Specifically, friendships are reflected by.

01:35:00 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 2:

the kids who you sit next to or nearby or one another when you're hanging out in a classroom. And a lot of times it's those kids that you're around consistently because a lot of times in class, the teachers will put you in a certain area next to kids. And it seems like it becomes a pattern for, you know, next year and the next year that those people will become your lifelong friends it's just like they say that uh you know students are kind of like how people are where they have neighbors you know if they you know if you have a neighbor that moves in and eventually

01:35:33 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 1:

that neighbor becomes a lifelong friend if you like them yeah this makes so much sense to me because my two best friends growing up my last name is murphy um one of them has a last name that starts with a k and one of them has a last name that starts with an n and we were always seated in alphabetical order or in line in alphabetical order and so i was always with these two girls and we became like the the three musketeers the best of friends because we were

01:36:00 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 2:

always around each other does this work out for everybody because it worked out for me too it worked out with my buddies uh you know brad and brian our twin friends who i felt bad because in the early stages of things they could stay together as twins and then as they got older they never had classes together so they're they never got to be in the same class because they always split them up into separate classes and then my buddy tom barrett too who he was always by me so it was always we were always kind of like the goof the goofballs megan mike you guys

01:36:29 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 6:

similar to this well i got moved a lot because i talked a lot of classes were you always did you

01:36:36 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 1:

have to sit by the teacher yeah are you not are you now friends with the teacher is that like one

01:36:41 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 6:

of your best friends no but i have like a lot of different like variation like different friends I had a best friend that wasn't in the class, but I was friends with everybody, so it kind of worked. You know what I mean? I hung out with different crowds in school and stuff, but I got in trouble a lot for talking, so I sat up front.

01:36:58 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 2:

What about you, Megan? I know you did switch schools, too, didn't you?

01:37:01 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 5:

I switched schools a lot, so I hit up two elementaries, two junior highs, two high schools, and two colleges. That's nice. And I have no friends from any of them. No kidding, Megan. um i was moved around a lot school-wise and then also like mike i was shockingly annoying in class and very talkative so i was moved a lot and in trouble a lot but i do think like teachers would put me next to people that they thought i would get along with because i'm still like really good friends with one of my friends uh jackie and her and i were looking at our photos the other day and we would be sat next to each other in literally every grade growing up it's strategic how did

01:37:40 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

teachers decide this i would love to know if a teacher would share with us you know like what is your reasoning of putting people in certain areas because at first i would think that it's just alphabetical and but then it seems like they always they end up kind of saying okay these people they always wanted to have the one extrovert and then they put you with some introverts

01:37:58 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 6:

they did that with cecily they put her by the quietest girl in class and they're best friends right now like my daughter is so outgoing and we'll talk to everybody and they they sat her next to the quietest little shy girl in the entire world. Strategic.

01:38:12 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 5:

You know what I also want to know? How many high school teachers have coupled up people that they want to date? Oh, that's such a good question. Did you put them in a group project together because you knew they were too nervous to ask each other out? Were you the matchmaker secretly?

01:38:27 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, Marky? Hi.

01:38:29 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I met my best friend in kindergarten. We've been friends for 21 years, and we became friends because uh we were fighting over a stuffed squirrel like a little beanie baby and we kept fighting so our teachers made our share and so we were just like forced to be friends so it actually it actually

01:38:53 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 2:

worked out it worked out to be a good situation and now you can call this person your lifelong friend yep that's cool who got the beanie baby who won uh neither one we shared i know i'm saying like an adult life though yeah now that was a poor joke on my part i thought i don't know you take it any way you want to what's up kristin hello good morning how are y'all this morning

01:39:18 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 4:

we're we're all good what's going on well i just wanted to say in fourth grade a way a long time ago um i was fighting with a girl in class because we didn't like each other at all hated each other And then we both liked the same boy. Well, our teacher was so fed up with it, she sat us both together, and we found out we were more alike than we thought and became best of friends. Years later, she became my maid of honor, and unfortunately, she is no longer alive, but she was my best friend forever.

01:39:50 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though, that boy, what an awesome thing to know that that teacher that first put you guys next to each other gave you somebody that was like a sister.

01:40:00 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 8:

i'm sure right oh yeah but then again i was also the one that talked a lot so i never

01:40:04 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 3:

yeah well thank you for the call what's up phoenix hi i just wanted to share that um

01:40:13 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 5:

in high school i was close to a teacher who shared that he would um pair us next to people he either didn't want to talk to or he wanted us to talk to and like even played matchmaker

01:40:22 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

sometimes really like megan was saying so the matchmaker teacher there did did that teacher

01:40:27 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 5:

match make you anywhere uh no but he did put me with a good friend okay that's cool i like that

01:40:34 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 6:

uh lexi what's happening is mojo in the morning hey so when i was in kindergarten i was very outgoing i still am but i'm outgoing and just speak my mind and there was a girl named sam very quiet shy it was like basically scared of me our teacher made us like sit next to each other and then the parents found out and we had to play softball together and now we're best friends I'm going to be 28th year She moved to Tennessee and we still talk every day

01:41:01 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

That's cool, I like that Even though you guys Were probably not a match You guys ended up matching Because the teachers kind of forced it on you

01:41:10 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she told me, she said, you used to bully me And I was scared, but you always stood up for me whenever I needed it And so, like, we're She's been to all my showers, she's, like, talked to my kids Every day on FaceTime And, like, Aunt Sammy and my kids

01:41:22 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 3:

Very cool, that's awesome These are all great stories

01:41:25 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 8:

erica's got an interesting one erica uh yeah i was sat next to a boy in i think it was my biology class he was struggling with dyslexia so the teacher knew that i took really good notes and she asked me if i would like carbon copy them for him and so she's at us next to each other so it would be super easy and then we ended up dating for like over three years oh wow that's a great story true matchmaking situation but uh it was it was definitely i think kismet for sure

01:41:55 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 3:

So if marriage is in the future, if marriage would have been in the future, would you have invited that teacher to your wedding?

01:42:02 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 8:

Oh, for sure.

01:42:04 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:42:04 - 01:42:04 | Unknown:

For sure.

01:42:05 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Could you imagine that movie? Like, even the title of the movie, they'd write it backwards. You know what I mean? Like, that would be a cool story for a movie.

01:42:13 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 3:

That would be, actually. What's up? Grace actually did marry the person that she sat next to in high school. Is that right, Grace?

01:42:20 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I actually was the insane extrovert in high school. It was like ninth grade history class, and I got moved for talking too much, and they put me next to the quiet kid. Well, we didn't date at the time. We became best friends and started dating at the very end of senior year, and I actually got married to him a month ago.

01:42:40 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. That's cool. That's amazing. Did you invite a bunch of people from school?

01:42:45 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 4:

No, we're really friends. It's been eight years since we graduated from school.

01:42:48 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 3:

That would be cool if the person that marries you is the teacher that puts you guys next to each other.

01:42:53 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 4:

We're still friends on Facebook. Once I graduated, we friended each other or I friended him or something, so I did thank him.

01:43:01 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's awesome. Thank you for the call. A teacher to explain this, and you don't realize how important where you put people means in somebody's life, Tracy.

01:43:12 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 7:

it does make things but i'm a first grade teacher and i said kids next to each other that's going to make my life easier because you know the best friends and the ones that don't like each other are going to talk so i mix them all up to make my life easier i like that but you never realize it

01:43:31 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 3:

you're you're making people's lives easier actually make people's friendships last longer yes they do that's cool thank you i like that she's willing to at least admit to us that it's for selfish reasons. She just doesn't want the talkers next to each other. Mojo in the morning show. Mike, I saw on social media that you went to that wedding at the campground this weekend. And I have to tell you that the picture of you and Milo is like precious. How old is Milo now? He's two. He's going to be three in July. I'm telling you, we need to do like a photo shoot with you and Milo where it's got to be like Dr. Evil and mini me. Or what was the old, another old movie was the movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito, twins. Twins. You guys are twins.

01:44:19 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Because you guys truly are like twins, yeah. That's very kind of you, but he would not sit still long enough to do a photo shoot. I don't know how parents do this. I haven't figured it out because Cecily was so much different. Cecily, my daughter, is eight, and she will literally pose for every single picture that we take, every single one. but my son does not and will not take a picture he will not sit still if there's he will not say cheese he will not you want won't do any of it and we have to do you know at weddings when like so is my sister-in-law's wedding so we had to do the group family photos and he was the only kid even kids younger than him that wouldn't sit still wanted nothing to do

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 5:

with the pictures i i cannot figure it out i have no idea what what to do what bribery to do but he will not you know photographers can't get him to sit still nothing they didn't have like any

01:45:10 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 6:

stuffed animals or things like i've seen that before where i've seen a couple of times where the two things that will make kids like look at the camera is they'll have like stuffed animals or something like behind the camera or somebody doing something behind them that makes the kid like get excited about it he just the only problem is that they'll sometimes run away from the camera Or run away from the actual stand-up area Where they're supposed to be taking the picture

01:45:31 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 5:

And that's what he did Is he ran towards the stuffed animal You know what I mean? He wants to play with it He wants nothing to do with the picture At all And I can't figure out what to do

01:45:41 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 6:

But I think they're kids And I think that's why the candid works so well You know? Where they kind of They don't like doing it So they don't like doing it So the picture kind of is funny

01:45:50 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

01:45:50 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 6:

I guess I don't know I feel like you have to get the family At least one Just one family photo So how do you get your kids to take pictures, Shannon?

01:45:58 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 4:

Lucy is exactly like Cecily. There's a camera around. It's like a magnet for my friend. Like, she loves it. Smith is, he's like touch and go with it. Sometimes he's good and other times he's not. My girlfriend is a photographer and she uses poopy words to make them laugh and like pay attention to her. And it seems to work every single time. So give me an example. Like, she'll be like, oops, I farted and I think I pooped in my pants. and she, like, makes fart noises. And Smith always, like, laughs hysterically and looks right at her, and we get a good picture. And then you get a good smile. Seriously. Yeah, how's it going? Yeah, poop words.

01:46:35 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 6:

Wow, he would take a lot of pictures around me.

01:46:38 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 4:

I would get the best pictures if you were there.

01:46:40 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I look at pictures back when the kids were little, and I look at some of the funnier pictures of the kids, and the funniest pictures of them is where they just don't even care.

01:46:50 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 4:

Like, my favorite Christmas card photo that I ever did was when Lucy was just, like, Smith was a baby, and Lucy was not having it. She was in such a grumpy mood. She literally looks like we were kidnapping her. Wouldn't smile for the life of her. And it was like a naughty or nice Christmas card, and she was so pissed off, but it was funny.

01:47:07 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 5:

And that's every picture we take with him. He looks like he's angry to be wherever we're at, even though he's having a great time.

01:47:12 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

But he's a cute, angry...

01:47:13 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 5:

Sure. He does that look on his face. He is so cute. He does that kind of like... But every moment up until that, he's laughing. He's having a great time.

01:47:21 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 6:

The second you go to take a picture... Ashley's got a good point. What should Mike do when he wants to take pictures?

01:47:27 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I have a similar problem sometimes, and I would just do, like, videos and try to get, like, my child's attention. And then, like, afterwards, you can grab screenshots of the video.

01:47:40 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 6:

That's what Megan talked about on Friday. Right around this time, we talked about that with Megan, the technique of taking pictures with the video. What a great idea.

01:47:52 - 01:47:52 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:47:52 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, I want to thank you because Megan gave that to me already on Friday. Oh, my God, be nice. No, I'm just joking, Ashley.

01:47:58 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the reminder.

01:47:59 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 6:

I'm just joking. No, that is actually a really good point. Just do that, Mike. Take videos.

01:48:04 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 3:

It was on Instagram this weekend. You know what it was? Selfie in my backyard.

01:48:06 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 6:

Was it really? Yeah.

01:48:07 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 3:

Selfie video in the backyard.

01:48:09 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 6:

Did we see? Did we got them on there? Hold on. I didn't see that.

01:48:11 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 3:

They were gorgeous.

01:48:12 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 6:

Look at you. All right. So the wedding went great at the campgrounds and everything. Did you guys stay the night

01:48:18 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 5:

or did you just go for the wedding and then go home? No, we stayed the night. So Allie's mom has a place there, so we just all stayed there. It was unique because I've never been at a wedding at a campsite before. And it's like a whole campground resort, so there's all this other stuff you can do, stuff for the kids to do. It was a lot of fun. That's awesome.

01:48:36 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 6:

Well, congratulations to your sister. Yeah. Is sister-in-law, it's Allie's sister? Yep. I will tell you this, that the one thing that I've realized with your kids and with Shannon's kids is that you guys are not making any money with them and you need to start making money with them. What do you mean? It's time for you guys to hire them both agents, both sets of kids. They need agents and they need to be working. Those kids are too damn cute, don't you think, Megan? Of course. To not be making money. Either that or make them have a lemonade stand in front of the house.

01:49:07 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 3:

Dude, I see these family bloggers out here. Ties are tough up there. Yeah, these family bloggers are on these streets with bad content. You guys could do so much better.

01:49:14 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 6:

Megan, if you had children, would your children be out, like, you know, we'll work for food signs or something like that?

01:49:19 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 3:

I am only here to profit off of the goblins I produce. Are you kidding me?

01:49:24 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 6:

It's the Megan Mick sweatshop. Yeah.

01:49:28 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 3:

That's the only reason why people have kids, to profit.

01:49:30 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. Yeah. What's up, April?

01:49:33 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I was just calling because I just graduated college a few weeks ago, and our family photo from graduation has my four-year-old laying on the ground crying and screaming.

01:49:45 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 6:

Isn't that awesome? I mean, real life. Wait, so you were going to school as a mom?

01:49:50 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes. Yes, I have actually three kids. I just graduated college a couple weeks ago. Oh, my God, down to you.

01:49:56 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 6:

Give it up to her. That's amazing. So was it going back to school?

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 2:

Or are you a younger person with kids?

01:50:04 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm 32, so I'm not too old. But I started college when my youngest was three months old.

01:50:11 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:50:11 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 1:

And then just kept going. It took me several years to complete, but I finished it.

01:50:16 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 2:

She's her mom. Isn't that fitting, though, that that's what your photo is, your graduation photo?

01:50:21 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 1:

That's what I told my mom. I told my mom, I'm like, this is so fitting. This is exactly how my life is.

01:50:25 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, good for you.

01:50:26 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 1:

So I wouldn't have it any other way.

01:50:28 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, you didn't need to go back to college. You just needed to go to the Megan, Mick, and Mojo school of how to make your kids work for you.

01:50:36 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:50:37 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 2:

You should not be working. Your children should be working.

01:50:40 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no kidding. I like that idea better.

01:50:42 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

All right. We'll put a seminar. We have a seminar at the Holiday Inn.

01:50:46 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 1:

$50 a ticket.

01:50:47 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 2:

In Belleville. I don't know. They always pick out some weird location. Just a bunch of little kids running around.

01:50:54 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 4:

Come to the seminar on social media. Come to the seminar on social media.

01:50:57 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Nowadays, you have to be careful of what you are looking at on your phone or watching in public because there may be the children hanging out with you. You know, they may not be your children. That'd be even worse. It's even worse when they see something. Megan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:51:25 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 4:

I have the innocence of a child. Okay, all right, cool All right, we'll take it We'll take the sympathetic laugh

01:51:32 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, the sense of humor of one too

01:51:35 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 4:

Thank you I'll take that, that's a compliment I was at the gym yesterday Right, because apparently this is my life now

01:51:44 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 2:

By the way, this challenge that Ellen put together Has been amazing Because when in your life have you ever been able So much in topics go Hey, so yesterday at the gym

01:51:52 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I hate it Can I be honest? because i hate people like i know people in their cars justifiably so are going oh good for you um don't worry still hate my life it's the worst would not recommend but but it does add you you

01:52:08 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 2:

kind of are more well-rounded now as a person because you can actually use the yesterday at

01:52:14 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 4:

the gym conversation that you know yeah all right do you even lift bro uh i was walking by this girl on the treadmill right and i'm nosy shocking i know but i was looking at her phone and this girl was straight up watching euphoria now if you watch euphoria you know that there are a plentitude of naked baking cookie scenes and i could not believe that she was so openly watching this in the gym where other people could see her phone yeah now i am a huge fan of the show do not get me wrong I am not a prude but I was very shocked that you would just play that where other people

01:52:55 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 2:

could watch you watching it I can't do it I tried to I downloaded it on my iPad to watch it on an airplane I could not do it on the airplane because I would felt like people would look at me like I was a creepy guy right and and do you guys ever do this do you guys ever watch shows like euphoria or was it bridgerton's also like sex life or sex life yeah do you ever watch those shows and you feel like you have to like even hide them from your family like I'll end up I'll like watch them when everybody is either asleep or I'll turn the lights down low and I'm not doing anything weird I promise you guys I'm not hands are right here right but I I promise you that it makes me feel weird even watching them at home sometimes when the sex scenes come on it's kind of like watching

01:53:35 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 3:

it with your parents you know my living room is like a fishbowl I have windows all the way around and I know like curtains or anything really. And so when I, I think I was watching Sex Life. And so if you walk by my house, you can see, like you could sit and watch TV. And one little neighborhood girl was, and it was like just boobs and butts. And I look out my window and I see her like staring wide-eyed. And I thought she's going to run home and tell her mom that the lady in the house at the end of the street was watching naughty stuff, which I was. I was watching Sex Life.

01:54:09 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how you do that with your house like that.

01:54:11 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 3:

But she was probably like 10 years old, too. I thought, oh, God, I need to do that in my bedroom.

01:54:15 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 2:

You have a beautiful home, but everybody can see every bit of what's going on. It would freak me out. I have a hard time. You should see me, because our door has windows on it. You see me when I walk by that door and I'm shirtless with just a pair of shorts on, which by the way, you do not want to see me shirtless with a pair of shorts on. I'm like, I hope the neighbor, you know, Jen is not looking out the window, you know, right now. Yeah. But, okay, so here's a question. Have you ever caught somebody in public watching something that was inappropriate? And where did you catch them? 844-MOJO-LIFE, 844-665-6548. And Euphoria is not, I don't think, inappropriate. It's obviously, well, I guess it's on.

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know that it's. Cable.

01:55:00 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 5:

Airplane watchable.

01:55:01 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. What about gym watchable, like Megan?

01:55:07 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 5:

If you haven't seen it, it's graphic. It's graphic, so it's too much for a gym. I don't know that that's in public in general.

01:55:15 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 6:

Would they kick you out of Planet Fitness, or would they judge you in a no-judgment zone for watching that? What's up?

01:55:21 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 2:

I'll turn it off. Hi. Hi, Alina. What's going on? My listener, I 10 out of 10 would watch it not in front of my kids. My boyfriend and I would turn it off when my kids are around, but we would watch it when they go to bed. But I would 10 out of 10 have my AirPods in and watch it in public if I wanted to just to catch up on the episode and not see any spoilers online.

01:55:48 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 6:

So, okay, so you would watch it in public, but you wouldn't watch it in front of your kids. To me, I don't know if that's, maybe you're not judging this right, if that's the case

01:55:59 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 2:

Probably not Yeah But if I saw somebody watching it, I'd be like, you do you, it's your preference

01:56:06 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 6:

Okay, what's up, Emily?

01:56:10 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you?

01:56:11 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 6:

We're good, what's going on?

01:56:13 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 3:

So I used to work at a small mom and pop coffee shop And I would have a repeat offender that would come in to buy internet time and watch porn.

01:56:24 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. Just right there out in the open.

01:56:28 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And did people complain? It was really small, so he would make sure to come in when nobody else was there. Or he would pop in and then leave. And we had to call the police so many times that he would buy internet and just sit there with his hands and watch porn.

01:56:42 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my. And he's also putting his hand in his pants, for God's sakes.

01:56:46 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 2:

It was horrible.

01:56:46 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 6:

Although I don't know why people would just sit there. I don't know if there's anybody that just watches porn just for the enjoyment of watching it or if they're using it for specific reasons like that guy is using it for. But that's crazy. I know. You got to be careful of this stuff, man. I'm telling you, you got to be careful of who's around you first and foremost. Like, I'm not trying to give forewarning to the guy watching porn. I'm telling you, if you see somebody watching porn in public, I think you should call them out. I think you definitely should say something about it. That person is not right. What's up, Preston?

01:57:16 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 1:

hi um i used to work at a middle school and we had a contractor that ended up leaving and parking in our parking lot really awkwardly in the middle of everybody and he's his seat was leaned back and we were kind of really concerned so we didn't know what was going on so we ended up walking up to him and he had his work computer opened up on porn on school property all right

01:57:39 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 6:

all right now i know that and that was his workplace right he worked in the school doing contracting work yes if a guy's in the parking lot watching porn he's a sexual predator yeah he's a pedophile because like truly yeah yeah because he's getting his rocks off of watching who knows what kind of porn yeah on that stuff i'm sure the guy got himself some he got himself some time for that what's going on jack yeah hi hey what's up i mean i mean i'm

01:58:13 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 5:

Look, I agree with you on, like, the porn and everything, especially in, like, a workplace. Like, yeah, you're right. The guy's, like, a sexual predator. But, I mean, like, all those shows, I mean, there's a pretty hard line. I mean, I can think on my, like, just recent memory on a plane, like, watching stuff like Punisher, Game of Thrones, stuff like that. I mean, if it's my screen, why are you looking at my screen? It's not porn.

01:58:39 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 6:

I mean, the shows that you picked out, though, you know, but if you're watching something that's got, like, really graphic sex scenes and you got other people around you, I don't know if you watch that.

01:58:51 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you need to be aware.

01:58:52 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:58:53 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 5:

I mean, like, you be aware, I guess, like, if it's really, really bad. But I don't know. I feel like there's very few shows that come close to that. Like, I mean, even Bridgerton, those scenes last, like, what, maybe, like, three minutes? Yeah. I wish they were longer.

01:59:08 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 3:

agree to disagree Nick what's up hey how are you

01:59:16 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 6:

01:59:31 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 4:

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

And.

01:59:59 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:00:00 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 2:

I was praying to God that he wasn't going to resume because he wasn't going to drive. And I had really no idea where to go because we're in the freeway. And the last thing I want to do is join him for listening to this. And I'm like, I don't know what the conference, because now he keeps asking me what I like to do, where I'm going. And I'm like, dude, just drive. I don't know what you're doing. We don't need to talk. I'll tip you whatever you need, but we're not talking. We're just driving. Let's go.

02:00:27 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Oh, my God. And he had no clue it's on his screen. Amber brings up a totally different point, and then we can end on this one. Amber?

02:00:38 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:00:39 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 1:

Not watching, but reading. Is that right?

02:00:42 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 4:

That's right.

02:00:44 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

What's the story?

02:00:46 - 02:01:10 | Speaker 4:

So I was on a plane not too long ago here, and I'm a bit like Megan, right? I'm curious. I want to see. I'm a little nosy. And the guy, there was an older gentleman Probably in his 60s, 70s Kitty Corner across from me And watched him Pull out a book and start reading How to Properly Orgasm And Stimulate a Women's Clitivist

02:01:10 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh That's what the book was titled

02:01:14 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 4:

Yes And very large text I may add

02:01:17 - 02:01:32 | Speaker 5:

I would be so Uncomfortable I mean props to this gentleman For wanting to know how to do the right thing But it would make me feel All kinds of weird I wish more men would read the book At home

02:01:32 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 1:

Were there pictures?

02:01:36 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 4:

No pictures

02:01:37 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh see If there were pictures Unless they were those drawing pictures Which some people get turned out I don't know why

02:01:46 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 4:

Ladies and gentlemen Mojo in the morning

02:01:50 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 1:

Back to Mojo in the morning All right, Mojo in the Morning. I'm going to title this, Wow, That Was Quick. So yesterday I had a conversation with a friend who he had gotten out of his relationship at the beginning of the year. He broke up with his girlfriend of a year and a half to almost two years at the beginning of the year. It just wasn't going the way that he thought it was going to go. It just wasn't working. He called me yesterday to inform me that there was some big news that he needed to tell me. his ex who he broke up with in january is married oh oh whoa she got married a couple of months after they broke up and i thought that was the quickest thing i've ever heard in my life and i said to him i go who did she marry so she ended up marrying a guy that she had previously dated and got back together with i guess they were like high school sweethearts or something like that but it was wild because he said she broke up they broke up in january she was like devastated and he said for like a couple weeks she had been constantly calling him and getting emotional and you know then texting him to see how he was doing in like within two months maybe a little more than two months after that she was married and never told him until just the other day when she just wanted to inform him that she got married they got some they did some quick wedding thing where they got married. But have you ever heard of anybody that has done that quick of a turnaround in a relationship where they went from breaking up to marriage or breaking up to you know. Like going on a date that same night. Well a date is one thing but it's a commitment thing like moving in together or getting married or moving away with each other or doing like some major like commitment stuff going on like that's kind of wild and it's funny because i'm i knew her and actually really liked her and i thought she was great and i thought to myself they probably you know are both good you know and maybe they'll date again sometime no i don't think it's gonna happen unless she ends up uh you know splitting with this guy that she's now married to 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 Wow, that was quick. I want to know of the quickest from breakup to marriage or whatever big thing that somebody has done. Has anybody done anything bigger than that?

02:04:26 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 5:

It would be stranger if she didn't. Like, at least she had a history with the guy, but still.

02:04:31 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:04:31 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 5:

My goodness.

02:04:32 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, that would have been really strange. Yeah. Well, they were high school sweethearts. They dated a little bit and stuff. Yeah.

02:04:39 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:04:40 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 1:

They're in their 30s.

02:04:42 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 3:

If it happens that fast and you're the friend, do you go to the wedding?

02:04:45 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 1:

If you're the person that broke up with her?

02:04:48 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 3:

Or even the friend of them.

02:04:50 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 1:

Or a friend of them. They didn't have people at their wedding because they did it so quick. Like if they eloped or something. But, yeah, I guess. I mean, could you imagine, though, if you got invited to a wedding? that quick i mean they they plan that thing pretty quick i mean i think they just got a license and ended up doing it by the way i don't mean to say this but starbucks was out of my cold brew this morning so i did reese's drink that he drinks every single day yeah it might be the worst thing i've ever put in my mouth really yeah no no thanks you don't like it it's a it is a uh a shaken

02:05:22 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 4:

espresso oh i wanted to try that it is awful try it you want to try it he told me to get it today Because I wanted something different.

02:05:30 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I would rather drink poopy pool water than have this thing. It's awful. It is so bad. You can have it if you like it.

02:05:44 - 02:05:44 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah, that's not good.

02:05:45 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 1:

You don't like it? It's horrible. Some drinks I feel like are just for effect. Like you just drink them because you know it's going to do the job fast. Is that one of those drinks? I think that Reese drinks this thing Because it probably does give him Like a complete boost Like it wakes him up or something Always I have a friend of mine who told me To try an edible that they had I had a friend of mine that told me Try an edible one time And I go oh really And he goes yeah it's unbelievable And it tastes great I try the thing and I was like I just put like a battery acid in my mouth That is the worst crap I have ever had in my mouth ever. What's up, Justin?

02:06:33 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. My boyfriend and sister got married last August. They got divorced this January, and she had a boyfriend two weeks later.

02:06:43 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 1:

Did you think she had a boyfriend while she was married? No.

02:06:47 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

She was loyal to him, and he was bad to her.

02:06:51 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's amazing. Some people are relationship people. Some people, they can't be by themselves, and they just need to be with other people, you know? I fear that that would be me, and Chelsea jokes and says that that would be me, but I don't think I would go that quick on a turnaround. I don't think I would do it that quick.

02:07:11 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 4:

You don't think so?

02:07:12 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, stop nodding your head over there. You keep nodding your head, and I'm going to make you drink this horrible coffee that Reese just gave us. what's up james how's it going what's going on buddy a quick uh wow that was quick

02:07:28 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 3:

yeah for sure uh yeah i just came home from work uh one day and then the house was totally destroyed and found a little note saying that she was leaving and then two weeks later she married to some dude and moved to Seattle, Washington.

02:07:47 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:07:47 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 3:

And the worst part is she took my daughter with her, so I actually lived the first six months of my daughter's life. Oh, God, James.

02:07:58 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Two weeks. So, was she having an affair with this guy? Did you ever find out any details?

02:08:04 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 3:

No, not really. How did she meet the guy? Well, they known each other in the past and he was actually coming around and i actually became friends with him and stuff like that too so they're probably doing crap behind my back yeah yeah oh i'm so

02:08:21 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 1:

sorry thank you for the call man i appreciate you calling in i'm sorry about that hopefully you and your daughter have are together you're still oh yeah this this was like about 20 years

02:08:31 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 3:

ago uh yeah so it's a lot better now i got full custody of my daughter now so wow uh good for you

02:08:39 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 1:

02:08:41 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 6:

My dad was married to my mom For 40 something years My mom recently passed away Seven months ago And he's in a relationship Wow

02:08:55 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Seven months My dad was similar too Was maybe a little bit longer than that After my mom had passed Do you like the lady that your dad's in a relationship with

02:09:04 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 6:

I just met her But they've been dating for a month now and he hasn't told my brother yet. So it's kind of like a weird situation.

02:09:14 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 1:

How did they meet?

02:09:17 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 6:

Church.

02:09:18 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, I hope everything's good. My dad's situation turned out good. At least he had companionship, you know, but it was quick. What's up, Kara?

02:09:27 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:09:28 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, your dad also, your dad was a divorce, right?

02:09:32 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 5:

So my biological father, the day he got divorced from my stepmom, I think less than 24 hours He was remarried to somebody

02:09:42 - 02:09:43 | Unknown:

Wait

02:09:43 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 4:

So did the divorce just take a really long time And he met her during that process Or what

02:09:48 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 5:

No he's just like a real POS He's had like 8 marriages

02:09:54 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

02:09:55 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 5:

It was less than 24 hours he was remarried

02:09:57 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god that's unbelievable

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call. Alexis, what did your dad do?

02:10:03 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 3:

So I love him to pieces, and he means so well. But when I was in high school, there was a period of time where there were two women, like, back to back. Like, one would move in, and they were dating, and they would break up. And a week later, the next one would move in, and they would date and then break up. And then a week later, the previous one would move back in. Eventually, he buried one of them, and they didn't even last a year.

02:10:26 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 4:

Buried meaning did she die of natural causes?

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 3:

No, they got married Oh, they married, I thought you said buried

02:10:32 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, holy crap They married, okay Alright, I was a little worried there That's unbelievable Wow, alright, well thank you for the call Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

02:10:44 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 1:

Megan, Mike, mark this date Down, it is 9 29 We are early for the Dirty on the 30 What is happening? I don't know I feel like the rest of my day is just going to be weird

02:10:56 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 4:

I want you to know I was literally just running down the hallways because I heard it starting.

02:11:03 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 1:

It's like, it's not 9.30 yet. All right, let's talk about Ariana Grande. Lots of people focused on her this morning after she shared a message with her millions of social media followers yesterday. It's an important one, too. She wanted to address some fan concerns about her body.

02:11:22 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 2:

I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people's bodies. No matter what, if you think you're saying something good or well-intentioned, whatever it is, healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, non-sex. I don't, we just shouldn't, we should really work towards not doing that as much.

02:11:42 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 1:

And she said, by the way, the body that you're making the comparison to was her at her most unhealthy.

02:11:48 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 2:

The body that you've been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly and at the lowest points of my life when I looked the way you consider my healthy but that in fact wasn't my healthy.

02:12:11 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah and she just said enough enough enough enough with with the body shaming already.

02:12:17 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 2:

Sending you guys a lot of love and I think you're beautiful no matter what you're going through No matter what weight, no matter how you like to do your makeup these days, no matter what cosmetic procedures you've had or not or anything, yeah, I just think you're beautiful.

02:12:37 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer Garner, I love her so much. Her kids are not on Instagram or TikTok or Snapchat. In fact, they do not have social media at all. Her daughter, Violet, 17, Serafina is now 14, and her little guy, Samuel, is 11. Yesterday, she made an appearance on the Today Show, and she was telling Hoda Kotb, Adena Bush, Hagar, that she challenged her kids to show her how social media can be beneficial. And so she said, you know, I said, show me articles and prove to me that social media is good for teenagers, and then we'll have the conversation about you getting it. And she said she also told her three kids to find scientific evidence that matches what I as a mom have that says it's not good for teenagers. And then we'll have a chat. Well, they didn't. So none of them have any sort of social media accounts right now. And as for how they're coping without it, Jennifer Garner said her eldest especially is very, very grateful because there's no drama, no comparison. And as I always say, the comparison is the thief of joy. So I kind of love that. An update for you on Amanda Bynes. She's been released from a hospital nearly three weeks after she was first admitted. Remember, she was found wandering naked on the streets of L.A. She was discharged from a facility in Southern California. And this is not done. She's now going to begin some outpatient treatment. She will be working with both doctors and different specialists to make sure that she is well going forward. And I'm also hearing from a good source of mind that Amanda will be living in her own home as she was before she was hospitalized. And she will keep many of the same freedoms that she enjoyed after being in her conservatorship for nine years. Tom Sandoval, Sandoval, Scandoval, getting it all confused from Vanderpump Rules. You know who he is opening up about his affair with Raquel Levis randomly in an interview with Howie Mandel for his podcast. He said he learned a lot from the whole experience of cheating on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Maddox, and claimed he actually called things off with her on Valentine's Day, which is an interesting timeline.

02:14:48 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Before she found the stuff on your phone, she would have considered you guys still in a relationship, and maybe a relationship that could have been mended, right? Because she was going in a different direction.

02:15:00 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 1:

than you i have already broken up with her two weeks earlier and i told her i said listen we don't have to post anything on social media like let's talk through this like i understand like we can we can like keep this like between us like we always have kept stuff between us and figure out a way to navigate this that like helps us both out and then a couple days later i sit down to talk with her again and she's like i'm like not letting you leave me um you're gonna have to force me out of this relationship and i was like ariana like i don't i was even like i don't think i could be faithful in a relationship with you right now i cannot who's believing that uh he

02:15:43 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 2:

also shaved his mustache and then gave an update on his current relationship status with our with

02:15:47 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 1:

uh not ariana with raquel are you still with her you're with her we're we're not like we're just We're really good friends We're not putting any label on it We're also just kind of taking a break

02:15:59 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to be alone So we're together But she's getting backlash from the fans So we're not together

02:16:05 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 4:

Why is the deal or no deal guy interviewing Why did he get this interview

02:16:10 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 5:

Some weird connection With this dude's drummer from his band Remember he was performing shirtless this weekend To 60 year old women

02:16:17 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 2:

That's his crowd

02:16:19 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah

02:16:20 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, a scientist has exposed how dirty your bathroom is before and after flushing the toilet. Listen up. This experiment proved that your toilet lid should be down before you flush for peak cleanliness, especially if you're pooping. The scientist who did this put a Petri dish on the tank that holds the water needed to flush your toilet and left the toilet lid up for 10 minutes without flushing. The Petri dish collected only two bacterial colonies. That phrase makes me want to vomit in my mouth. But when he repeated the same experiment but flushed the toilet with poop inside, he found five bacterial colonies. Moral of the story, close your toilet lid before you flush your poop. Happy Wednesday. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

I wonder if I should be forthcoming with this one. So we're going away for the weekend, and Chelsea was freaking out because we did not have anybody to pet-sit Henry and Louie. And we were trying to figure out, like, what to do as far as that was concerned. So I had called up one of my friends who has a dog, and I said, hey, who was the person that pet-sit your dog last time? because he raved about how great this person was. And he said, you know, the person's name, and I don't want to say their name on there because obviously when I tell you, you don't want their name on the radio. And he said, yeah, he said, I think that they would be great. I'm like, okay, cool, because he raved about how he came back home and his dog was just like in love with this girl. She was great. He also said that she pet sat at his house and he trusted her fully Came home. His house was cleaner than it was when he left. And he has nobody there cleaning but himself. So she cleaned, obviously, the house. So I told Chelsea about this. And Chelsea's like, well, I don't know if I want her staying at the house. But maybe she can watch the dogs. Yesterday, he goes and tells me something about her that I think he should have said something to me about before. The last time that she pet sat for someone, which was like a weekend or two ago, the dog died in a freak accident. I guess the dog knocked cleaning supplies off of the table and a bottle broke hitting the ground. And the dog ended up swallowing a bunch of poisonous liquid and ended up dying.

02:19:55 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's sad. But that's an accident.

02:19:57 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

But do I now have to...

02:20:00 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 1:

tell that to Chelsea before we do anything because he didn't tell me that ahead of time. He told me nothing but the positives. But last time, I talked to him yesterday, he says, he tells me this story. Do I now have to tell Chelsea and now freak her out?

02:20:14 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think you have to tell her because she's going to be so pissed if she finds out after the fact and figures out that you knew and didn't say anything to her. Even though I hope that she will, you know, I mean, it is an accident.

02:20:27 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 1:

Why is my life so hard?

02:20:30 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 2:

That's a really sad story. Megan, why is my life so hard? Huh? That story just made me so sad.

02:20:37 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 1:

I mean, why can't it, Megan, ever go right? You know what I mean? Like, you know what I'm talking about.

02:20:41 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 2:

If you didn't know that I've been crying that to myself for the past two weeks, I don't know.

02:20:46 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 1:

I feel like there's a cloud or something these days. Yeah. But if I don't...

02:20:50 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 2:

But you have information that she would be pissed if you didn't give her that information. Yep. It's nothing you did, so she can't be mad at you.

02:20:57 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's an honest text.

02:20:58 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

Why would she be mad at you?

02:21:00 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 1:

God, could you imagine, by the way, your pet sitting for somebody?

02:21:02 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 2:

No. Oh, God.

02:21:03 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 1:

And the dog or whatever the pet is dies while you're pet sitting. Has that ever happened to anybody? Has anybody ever had the animal die while you're pet? I mean, I don't want to laugh. What's up, Michelle?

02:21:15 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 5:

Hey, this is Michelle.

02:21:17 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes, Michelle. Hi, Michelle.

02:21:19 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 5:

Hi there. How are you guys doing?

02:21:21 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 1:

You know what? We're doing great. Wait, Michelle, you're a professional pet sitter? Yes, I am. Wow. I didn't know that they, is there a league that you guys play in, or what is it?

02:21:32 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 5:

Well, we're bonded and insured, and I'm a member of the International Pet Sitting Association.

02:21:42 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 1:

Really? Really?

02:21:44 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 5:

That's fancy as hell.

02:21:46 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so...

02:21:47 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead.

02:21:49 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

No, so tell me, have you ever had a situation where a pet died while you were pet sitting?

02:21:53 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 5:

um i've had one pet uh die on my time yeah what happens when you're a professional pet sitter and that happens do they knock you down to the minors no um i called the the client and um took the dog to the vet and then um then we went from there and the vet talked to the client and

02:22:16 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 1:

so the dog was already sick then huh pre-existing yeah it was an older dog yeah it was an older

02:22:22 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 5:

dog she passed away she had internal bleeding oh wow this is good to know by the way this is good

02:22:30 - 02:22:38 | Speaker 1:

to know that there's professional pet sitters shelby yes hi shelby hi good morning you had a

02:22:38 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 7:

pet die while you were pet sitting oh i had three pets die oh my gosh girl and you kept going to work okay so i'm not a professional pet sitter i was pet sitting for a co-worker of mine and And they didn't die on my watch, but, like, a week or so after I was pet-sitting, their cat passed away, like, due to old age. But their cat passed away, their goldfish passed away, and their rabbit passed away, all within, like, a few weeks. Oh, God. I know, and I felt so bad, and that doesn't make me look really good, but they called me back to watch their dogs again.

02:23:16 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 1:

They did? That's amazing. By the way, they must have been really desperate if they're calling the lady who killed three of their animals. You've got to sign up, Shubb, and be a part of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. Listen to this one here. Hey, Mojo in the Morning, what's up? How you doing, Dawn? Hi. Hi, Dawn. What happened to you when you were pet sitting?

02:23:38 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 6:

The dog's eye popped out. Oh, my God. Did you know that that could happen? No, I had no idea. Yeah, I was freaking out, and then I had to take it to an emergency vet, and they had to end up taking the eyeball out and throwing the eye shut. Oh, my gosh. Thousands of people were away when they got back their dog at the vet with his eyes.

02:23:59 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Where did the eyeball fall to, the ground?

02:24:03 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 6:

It stuck to the hair of the eye. You know, the dog had the hair around the eyes. Yeah. It was stuck to the hair on the eye.

02:24:12 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

Because with my luck, it would fall to the ground, and the dogs would eat it before I noticed that it was gone.

02:24:16 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You come back from vacation, your dog is a pirate. It was so harshly attacked, so it was sticking out.

02:24:23 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Watch this. Did you hear, Kirby? No, I didn't hear it. What did you say, Kirby?

02:24:26 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 5:

I said you come back from vacation, and your dog is a pirate.

02:24:33 - 02:24:33 | Unknown:

02:24:43 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 4:

We put his tank on the windowsill in the kitchen just so we could see the pretty colors and stuff. And I was rushing around the kitchen, washing dishes. And I just noticed, I'm like, where is Mr. Noodles? And I'm like kind of panicked and looked down and somehow he had flipped out.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, so my brother went on vacation. He asked his friend to watch his cat for him, and he got back. He was gone for maybe two weeks. He got back, and, you know, they met up at his apartment, talked for a little bit, and his friend left. And then shortly after, he texted him back, and he said, hey, by the way, your cat's in your freezer. It died. Oh! Oh, my gosh!

02:25:54 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 7:

By the way! Oh, my gosh! No!

02:25:57 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 8:

I guess he didn't know what to do with the cat So he just put it in the freezer So my brother could do something with it Oh my god And all he said was a text

02:26:06 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 7:

By the way He didn't call him and tell him Hey by the way something's wrong with your cat Your cat's sick or your cat died

02:26:14 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 8:
