Muskegon, and 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo. We are at full strength. What? Everybody is here. Cav is back. Megan was back from being sick. Cav back from taking some time off, celebrating his birthday. How was that, by the way?

00:05:18 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, bro, live is F. I had a great time out in Denver. I wanted to be closer to some mountains. I wanted to see that. Got a chance to see that. Had some great time. The homies came. One of the homies dropped out at the last minute. Jonte, I still hate you. But, you know, it was reasons beyond his control. But I had an enjoyable time, man, for real. It was great. I'm glad I did that.

00:05:41 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

By the way, very interesting. Just random, you wanted to be close to mountains. Yeah. Was it that or just they had good flight prices?

00:05:48 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 3:

No, it was a decision to go to Denver. Really?

00:05:50 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, man. So that was like destination? Because when you said, I'm going to Denver, I'm like, okay. Like, what's in Denver?

00:05:57 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 3:

We talked about this. You had never seen mountains before. I've been to California and I've seen mountains, but it's not the same, bro. And I don't want to get to a point in my life where my imagination or my thought process surrounding serenity or vacation has to be 90 degrees with a mojito on my hand and no shirt off. Like that doesn't have to only be a vacation. Yeah, it has its place. But for me right now, I had to be mountains, man. That's what I got.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

So instead of a mojito, what are you drinking?

00:06:23 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 3:

Bruh, I had the Don Julio Reposado big bottle. Really? Going insane. Is that why your eyes still look like that? My eyes probably look like this because I smoked a little while. Oh, yeah. I'm like, I don't see eyeballs in there. I just see little slits. I smoked a little bit on Saturday. I think I'm still hot.

00:06:42 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 2:

Was it first time in how long that you were?

00:06:44 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 3:

Bro, I couldn't even tell you how long it was. But I went there, I talked to the lady. I was like, give me the most basic weed y'all got here. Give me the closest thing to Reggie.

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Give me the 1970s. Some twigs. So I did some stems in it.

00:06:54 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

She was like, I'm going to give you a nice hybrid.

00:06:56 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 2:

Now, we have that here, by the way. I don't know if you know that. But I would assume that, and somebody told me that our prices are better. Like, I've heard that the prices in Michigan are better than the prices in definitely Chicago. People come across the border to come. They go two borders over.

00:07:13 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

Ohio's prices are so bad. My favorite thing is when I'm coming back to Detroit from going home, all of the billboards that are like, Welcome, Ohioans. We have better prices. And I'm like, you do.

00:07:23 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 2:

When did Ohio vote it in? I thought Ohio didn't have that.

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I truly don't know.

00:07:28 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 2:

Is it medical or is it?

00:07:29 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 1:

See, this is where I don't know because it happened after I moved here. I just know it's like decriminalized. I don't even know if they have dispensaries there or not.

00:07:36 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. So, Kevin, so back from vacation, how was the flight? Did you have fun on that?

00:07:42 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was great. I flew Frontier.

00:07:44 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 2:

That was a cheap-ass flight, though, which I wasn't bad. Like in a good way or a bad way?

00:07:49 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was cost-effective. It cost me next to nothing to get out there.

00:07:54 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Did the plane land? and take off?

00:07:56 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Hey, better than some of your Delta flights.

00:07:58 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

You didn't lose any wheels or you didn't have all of a sudden like the thing land on its backside?

00:08:04 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

No, no problems at Frontier, there and back with no scratch. But something did, something happened interesting on the flight where I saw like this Donald Trump tariff negotiation go down.

00:08:16 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what?

00:08:16 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell you, this lady, so I heard it like me in negotiation, so I didn't see the beginning of it. But one lady wanted to switch her seats because I guess her husband was back there or something like that. They switched seats. So she'd come back, and she'd ask the lady, can I switch seats? And the lady's like, they stand up. They're toe-to-toe, and the lady has, like, certain stipulations where she's like, well, how far up are you? Is it a middle row? Is it a middle seat? Some rows, you only had two seats in there if you, like, really paid your way. That's what I did on the way back. I was like, I need a little extra row. That makes up crazy. So some seats he had. Some seats had two. Some rows had two. Some rows had three. So she's trying to negotiate and figure out what's going on. And her last stipulation, she was like, okay, that checks out, that checks out. This last thing I'm going to ask you, this is a deal breaker. This is one of my non-negotiables. Oh, my gosh. Are there any babies in your role or in the surrounding roles? Oh, I love it. The lady was like, no. She was like, you have yourself a deal. Asking the right question.

00:09:06 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

I like that, though, that she's asking. She wanted all the facts. She's asking. She wants to know because there's nothing worse than having somebody ask you to move because they want to sit next to their loved one only to get put in a bad seat. or if the seat doesn't, when I say bad seat, doesn't recline or doesn't have it or you have a big tall guy like myself in front of you and then he's on top of your lap the entire time too. So how much did she have to move up or back?

00:09:32 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 3:

She moved up and she moved up a considerable amount, like half the plane. I was in the back on the way.

00:09:37 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Which is a good deal unless there's no overhead bins to move your bag up because now what do you do? What do you do? Do you guys pass the bag up or something like that?

00:09:48 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

You got to wait. Yeah, because she's not going to go to the back of the plane. I hate that. And then go all the way. Oh, I didn't think about that.

00:09:55 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

I had a situation one time where a guy would not switch with me. so that Luke and I can sit next to each other. And this was when Luke was probably about nine years old or 10 years old. Would not switch. Absolutely would not. So the flight attendant was trying to negotiate with him. Would not do it. A couple people that were by us would not do it. Like nobody was negotiating. So the flight attendant goes, don't worry, I'll take care of him. Luke got so much crap that entire flight. Like they were bringing him things. Oh, they were great. Oh, good crap. I thought you meant bad crap. No, no. Like the guy was bringing him everything he wanted. I mean, I think Luke might have had 20 Coca-Colas.

00:10:33 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 1:

How far was he from you?

00:10:34 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 2:

He was about four rows up from me and on the other side. So I was on the window seat. So I was window seating it, and he was aisle seating it, and it was about four rows. Luke was supposed to have, we were supposed to be right next to each other, and the airlines move you sometimes when you're with your kids, which sucks.

00:10:55 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 4:

That literally just happened to us two weeks ago when we were going to Florida. for whatever reason Smith who's only seven they kept moving him away from Lucy and I and I selected our seats so I was like why are why are they doing that and I kept having to go to the gate because we were on we had obviously there and back but we had a layover so we had four total flights and it happened I think three out of the four flights and the one flight we ended up once we got on the plane because the gate switched him then back to where we so he could sit with you know me and loose and we get on the plane and i look ahead and i can see a lady sitting in the row where the three of us now have tickets to and when i told her she was so pissed and i'm like it was i didn't do it talk to the gate lady i mean this lady put up such a fight about it i don't want to sit in a middle seat i don't want to sit up there and i'm like ma'am take it up with somebody else it's not i did not choose these specific seats but i'd be pissed to be moved to a middle seat

00:11:53 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm not going to lie. I'd be really pissed to be moved to a middle seat. That's a non-negotiable. But I also think if I see a seven-year-old, I go, well, obviously, you got to fly with a parent. Yeah.

00:12:04 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

And it was the difference between the way back of the plane and the way in front of the plane.

00:12:08 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Now, if you're, like, 12, I'm probably going to be like, no, you're big enough to sit on a plane by yourself.

00:12:14 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:15 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

That's bold, though.

00:12:16 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 2:

I feel like when you travel with your family, like, move. You want to be. No. Although I don't want to sit next to the 12-year-old and have anybody, you know, to me nowadays, yeah.

00:12:26 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

Accuse you of touching her.

00:12:26 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't want anything.

00:12:27 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but then think about a six-hour flight where now you can't sleep and you can't move and you're in the middle.

00:12:34 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:34 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. I paid for the other seat.

00:12:36 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 2:

How about this? How would you like to sit next to high-cav? I mean, that would be the thing.

00:12:41 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

I'd be chilling, bro.

00:12:42 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

High-cav there. Hold on. Do you smell it?

00:12:45 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

Did you smoke or edible? I didn't go crazy. I told you I'm not doing edible. I'm not trusting that edible. You do not trust edibles. That does not have an expiration date.

00:12:53 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 3:

It's like a time bomb.

00:12:54 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 2:

I love it. So what did you do? Did you smoke one of those big old...

00:12:56 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

No, I just rolled one.

00:12:59 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, born?

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Did you have one of those?

00:13:01 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Nah, nah. I mean, listen, I used to smoke a lot of weed. We call it pearling when you rolled the blunt or the joint, whatever your form of paper is. That hasn't lost my skill. Rolling do me! I had a machine for it. We rolled it up and blew my little joint. Did you? And sat and watched the Red Rocks and enjoyed my life. Did you go to Red Rocks? Yeah, I went to the theater. It was a good night. It's so beautiful.

00:13:26 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

But do the people working out ruin it?

00:13:28 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

No, it was chilling. It had rained a little bit that morning. No, it snowed a little bit that morning, which I think decreased the population of people working out, but there were still some people working out. There were some people that were psychotic.

00:13:38 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Did you get any exercise at all, climbing mountains? Yeah, I just told you. You did?

00:13:42 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I climbed Red Rocks, man.

00:13:43 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 2:

You climbed it.

00:13:44 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Thousands and thousands of feet up.

00:13:45 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 2:

How many steps did you get that day? Because I want to know, did your phone alert you that somebody stole your phone? I'm telling you, because that's the thing. If you have like, you know, normal day, 5,000 steps, and then all of a sudden you get 20,000 steps, they think somebody stole your phone. They're going, hi, Kev. By the way, no, no, here's the funny thing. Hi, Kev thought he walked a lot of steps.

00:14:08 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 3:

It was like 60 feet.

00:14:10 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 2:

It was, yeah. Go check that out. Kev, you are high right now.

00:14:13 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 3:

Do you think he claimed one staircase and he's like, I'm in the mountains?

00:14:16 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm in Red Rocks. It wasn't Red Rocks. It was like some, you know, neighborhood.

00:14:21 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 1:

Did I climb more stairs than you fell down? Oh, you. Wow, welcome back.

00:14:32 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 2:

I never missed you one moment there.

00:14:35 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 1:

I walked up the steps, Black. You had to walk back up the steps, Black, too.

00:14:41 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't like you. Why are you here? Couldn't you take the whole Easter week off? This is your captain speaking. Thanks for listening. You are now free to walk around naked and listen to Mojo.

00:14:53 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. I love waking up to Mojo in the morning. In the morning.

00:16:20 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it was a big Olympic scandal in this year. Olympian Marion Jones admitted to lying under oath about taking steroids.

00:16:26 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 1:

Making these false statements to federal agents was an incredibly stupid thing for me to do. And I am responsible fully for my actions.

00:16:36 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Blades of Glory. We're going to skate to one song, one song only. With Will Ferrell. Lady Hump by the Black Eyed Peas. This is the big movie.

00:16:41 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 4:

What you going to do with all that junk, all that junk inside my trunk? I'm going to get you, get you drunk, get you drunk off my Lady Hump. My Hump, my Hump, my lovely Lady Hump.

00:16:51 - 00:17:00 | Speaker 6:

And the big song. Because you're so good, you're so good, baby. I see you whining. Hey, Con, I want to love you. What year was that, Katie?

00:17:01 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 5:

It was 2007. Ba-ba! Ba-ba! I like it, ba-ba!

00:17:09 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 6:

Congratulations, you're a winner. Woo-hoo! You got tickets. The show is called Crunk Fest Takeover. It stars Lil Jon, E-40, Young Jock, and a whole bunch more at Lil Caesars Arena May the 24th. forth we will set you out that is so cool tickets congratulations you have fun okay thank you so much i will oh have the best day we appreciate you so much uh peter wants to talk about the

00:17:33 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 5:

plane thing what's going on peter hey hey so um it happened to me like probably seven years ago i used to fly back and forth a lot like every week and it kept moving me and splitting up me and my boyfriend and so one day i was like okay girl i'm not that gay what's really going on And the flight attendant finally told me that it was for weight distribution. So then I got even more offended. Wait a second. Hold on a sec.

00:18:01 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 6:

Wait. Dog. The flight attendant moved you because you guys weighed. Fat boy. Wait. I don't know. What was it?

00:18:13 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm the fat one. My twin cat boyfriend was like skinny, I guess. Oh, no. No, so it's a real thing. And actually, I looked up because I didn't believe her. I was like, is this a fat joke? I didn't understand. Oh, my God. And it's a real thing. It's why we have to sit. Like, you know, when the plane's taken off, that's the reason we can't get up and move because there's a shift in the gravity, like central gravity or something. Do you have any idea how heavy you are? Oh, my God. So basically, they judged you when you walked up to that counter. And that's how they... A lot of people don't know this. They literally look at you and estimate your weight and have it in a computer system. And so they move people's feet. Wow.

00:18:54 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what's wild? Get them working at Cedar Point at that carnival game. Yeah, right.

00:18:59 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 6:

On those little flights, I remember that I was told that one of those little flights, when I say little flights, it's like the flights that, like, puddle jumper type things. Yeah, they'll weigh you. Yeah, they'll make you weigh. I was, like, so embarrassed. I'm like, no, not Chicago type ones, but, like, the ones, like, if you've ever gone to the Bahamas or something like that, They do these little flights where there's only, like, maybe 20 people on the entire plane.

00:19:20 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 5:

They make you get on a scale.

00:19:21 - 00:19:22 | Speaker 6:

They make you get on a scale.

00:19:22 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy.

00:19:23 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 6:

And I would not get on forwards. I had to get on backwards like I do at the doctor's office. I just don't want to see it.

00:19:32 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 5:

I'll be a lot of things, but I will not be the big boy that brings down the plane. So I'll be whatever they want. Right. I love it. It's crazy, Peter.

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:20:02 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 1:

All right, Shannon, with what's trending this morning, the Dirty on the 30, when I saw the story, by the way. Dirty. This Braves reporter story.

00:20:09 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm not starting with that, but now I will. Okay.

00:20:10 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 1:

Okay, when I saw this yesterday, I thought, the internet and people suck. And you know what? You people are way too overanalyzing every piece of crap that's out there. What's going on?

00:20:23 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so, Kev, I'm going to catch you up, because I don't know, you know, while you were high in Denver, if you caught this story. Atlanta Braves TV reporter Wiley Ballard's attempt to get a fan's phone number while interviewing these two beautiful women at the Rooftop Lounge at the Rogers Center in Toronto. Well, while that moment has gone viral, it has also sparked a great debate online.

00:20:46 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 4:

My name's Lauren. Lauren's, alright.

00:20:48 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 5:

And I'm Kayla.

00:20:49 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 4:

Kayla, and you guys hang out at the Rooftop Lounge often?

00:20:53 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 5:

Once a year I come out to visit.

00:20:55 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well we timed it pretty well. Alright, good. How are you guys feeling about Rooftop for the Braves today?

00:20:59 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 5:

Oof, I don't know. I'm hoping for the best.

00:21:03 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 4:

What about you? Are you a Braves fan now?

00:21:05 - 00:21:06 | Speaker 5:

Not quite.

00:21:06 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 4:

Not quite. All right, I'm going to go to work up here, guys. Good luck the rest of the way. Okay, Wiley. You got five innings, four innings to get the numbers. Come on, come on, come on. Get us some more Braves fans. All right, so they want me to get your number.

00:21:22 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 5:

They want you to get my number.

00:21:24 - 00:21:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm dead serious. They're saying it in my ear right now. She didn't believe me because she thinks you guys are not making this up. Even if you guys weren't, I might use that in the future. That's actually a pretty good move. This is unbelievable.

00:21:37 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 3:

So the best part of this right now is that Wiley could totally be faking it. This might be the new move. Just walk around with a FanDuel microphone and an earpiece in and convince fans that they're actually on TV. I should have thought of this years ago.

00:21:50 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 4:

I am speechless. I got the number. We're good. Wow.

00:21:54 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 2:

So people were saying things online, like, very polarizing. Some said, okay, it was really funny. Others were saying, yikes, insane double standards in sports. Others were saying, pro tip to any sports reporters out there, don't do this. Imagine if a female reporter did something like this, career over, pretty brutal, to see it glorified by the broadcast. And then others were just saying, you know, yeah, like, this is outrage over nothing. So, like I said, I'm talking split down the middle from what I've seen online of people's reactions to it.

00:22:29 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 1:

I feel like the only thing that was wrong is he got the wrong girl number. The other girl looks so much better, bro.

00:22:35 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 5:

Are we also acting like girls don't go to hockey games and get there for warm-ups and have their signs and try to get players' attention?

00:22:40 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they got whole sections for Batty. Right. Yeah, that's amazing.

00:22:44 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, and somebody else pointed out online, we don't know the conversation that happened between the three before the cameras cut to him and after as well.

00:22:52 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 1:

And it's now the reason why nobody will ever ask another person for a phone number because we can't communicate with people because we're so afraid that we'll offend some people.

00:23:02 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 5:

And that leads to strictly app dating, which we also hate.

00:23:05 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 2:

I mean, isn't that how Travis Kelsey met Taylor Swift? He did the friendship bracelet with the number, right? Am I getting that story wrong? I thought he slated on her DM. I don't know. I don't know what story's real. All right, Ariana and ASAP Rocky getting married. married. I think they already are. Fans seem to think they are after Rihanna unveiled the brand new Savage by Fenty Bridal Collection on Instagram yesterday sewing a series of photos of herself in a bridal themed set complete with the veil. There's a white wedding cake there and the caption, here comes the bride. Looking good. I kind of agree with you, Megan. I think they're already married.

00:23:47 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 1:

You think they got married after the trial? I think they got married before the trial.

00:23:53 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 2:

Actress Amanda Bynes announced she has officially joined OnlyFans. She swears no sleazy content. She said she is only doing it to chat with her fans through DMs. Now, if you're going, OK, I know that name. How do I know her name? She became a household name in the early 2000s after appearing on Nickelodeon shows like All That, The Amanda Show. She was in She's the Man. hairspray. Do we have to explain Amanda Bynes now? No, she's not. Some people might not know. I mean, she had a very highly publicized struggle with her mental health, placed under conservatorship for 12, 13 years. She finally got out of it in 2022. She's doing great. Yeah, she's

00:24:34 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 5:

hopped on OnlyFans. Have you followed her on social media? No. She has had a huge up and down, and she seems like she's in a much better place lately, which is awesome. Are you going to

00:24:44 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 1:

subscribe to OnlyFans and support?

00:24:46 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Um, no, I'm not, I'm not a big fan of, I loved The Amanda Show, like, I loved The Amanda Show, and I think the last movie I liked of hers was probably, what was that Snow White movie that she?

00:25:00 - 00:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I do remember that. I don't remember the name of it.

00:25:02 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 4:

It was like Emma Stone was in it, right?

00:25:04 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but the OnlyFans, though, are you going to subscribe to that?

00:25:08 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:25:09 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 3:

Sydney White, by the way, was the name of the movie, Sydney White. I don't think I would ever want to subscribe to a celebrity's OnlyFans. Come on now, stop playing. Really? Yes, you would. No. Scarlett Johansson dropped OnlyFans right now.

00:25:20 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 4:

No, because here's the thing. None of them respond to the DMs. They hire people to respond. So it's like, why am I paying to talk to a stranger?

00:25:27 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 3:

I would have them do a cameo for me, and I have, but I would never have, like, I would, you know.

00:25:34 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 1:

If I follow your OnlyFans, I'm not trying to DM you.

00:25:37 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:25:37 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm there for what I'm looking at. You just busted Carl in Garden City's dreams that it is Scarlett Johansson actually writing him back. Sorry, I'm so sorry. And Elon Musk's latest baby mama, Ashley St. Clair, has revealed the wild amount of money he offered her for her silence after she gave birth. As a paternity test has determined, he is 99.999% likely to be the father. She revealed yesterday that the baby boy, Elon's 14th known child, is named Romulus. For the record, Elon has never publicly admitted that this baby is his. They are locked in a very messy legal battle. But Ashley said he offered her $15 million and then $100,000 a month to not publicly disclose that he is the father until this child turns 21. Wow. 00:28:28 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I want to be me either.

She's on both of you.

00:37:37 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 7:

She's a very hard worker, but...

Yes. Oh, I have to tell you something.

00:39:13 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:39:13 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 5:

Long time, first time. Yay!

00:39:16 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 1:

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 4:

Not really crying.

00:40:01 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 2:

Ah, that's awesome. We love it. Both for good reason.

00:40:05 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, everybody.

00:40:06 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 2:

Love you, too. Hang on one second. We'll get you your pride.

Do you wash your face in the morning? I do. I do wash my face, but I don't wash it like some people do with like face wash. I just wash it with a bar of dove soap or something.

00:41:12 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 3:

Do you exfoliate or use like toner or anything?

00:41:14 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 2:

Why are we asking these? But no.

00:41:16 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes we just got to check in on our friends.

00:41:18 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

I do. I do. I do do facials. I get every now and again, I get a Diamond Glow facial from Lauren B. at Beauty Culture Med Spa. Dang.

00:41:32 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:41:33 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm just checking.

00:41:34 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 2:

Is my face looking good or what?

00:41:36 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you always got good skin. I don't think I've ever seen you with a pimple or a blemish or anything.

00:41:39 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, for a guy that's 75 years old, I don't look too bad. Reverse those numbers around, right? Come on now. My bad. I just want to talk. I know. Oh, by the way, now you just insulted me because I'm not even 57 years old yet. What are you? That fall put a couple years on you. I am 54 years old, but in a few moments here, in about less than 20 minutes, I'm going to tell you something. I have reached a legendary status on Michigan State's campus. Oh, God. They now want me to host the basketball game. I passed the torch. I will explain it coming up. I got a call from Luke yesterday. Oh, God. So it's good. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. If you're somebody that's ever given birth to a baby, you know that sometimes in family situations, people might get offended when it comes to who's in the delivery room and who's not in the delivery room. Megan, you got a friend that's going through this right now.

00:42:33 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so this past weekend, I was at a birthday party. A friend of mine is pregnant, and her and her husband are expecting their second child, and they were fighting. And I was like, oh, girl, give me all the details. What's wrong? And they're fighting because his mother wants to be in the delivery room. And she said, absolutely not. And her husband thinks that it's unreasonable for her to say no to his mom being in the delivery room. And let me tell you. I know. Is that something you learned? He was like, I don't understand. I don't understand. She gets to have her mom. Why can't my mom be in there? And she was like, absolutely not. And every girl in that room was like, bro, let it go. This is not your choice. You do not get to say this. It's causing major issues in their relationship. But all the girls were on her side and his mom should not be in the delivery room. They were all on her side.

00:43:34 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 2:

Did you have moms in the delivery room?

00:43:36 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

We had zero moms, zero family members. We decided that we just wanted it to be a moment between, you know, the two of us. and that was it and that was a very very hard conversation to have well he was like i don't

00:43:51 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 4:

understand because for the first one we did it your way and i was like it's still her way it's

00:43:56 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 1:

still her first let me tell you something that it is her body that is exposed crazy things happen you need to i the mama needs to feel the most comfortable in this decision making and if i I feel like she very much gets a say in who's in there and who's not.

00:44:14 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 3:

I don't like it.

00:44:16 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:44:16 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 3:

I mean, duh, she get a say. Duh, her body exposed. But that just means that I don't have any say-so in this process at all. Correct. It's my baby coming through that vagina as well. Why can't I be a baby? Her body. I hear all of that. But my experience doesn't matter at all in this? No. That's crazy. That's ridiculous. You're just a sperm donor. That's ridiculous.

00:44:32 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 2:

Until she asked for child support.

00:44:33 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. You gave birth. I gave life. But somehow, someway, I'm not a part of this.

00:44:38 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy. In our three cases, Chelsea's mom was in the delivery room with Chelsea and myself. And then in one of the cases, we wanted to have Chelsea's dad in the delivery room to cut the umbilical cord. But unfortunately, somebody directed him to the wrong room. And he walked into the right room after we had already done everything.

00:45:00 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 6:

thing and he goes i'm suing which by the way a hospital doesn't like that but go back to it i believe as a dad of a of three children that first off my mom has passed so she there was no even thought of this you know like that wasn't you know going to bring her back from the dead and have her in the room with us although she probably was there yes that would have been cool though but uh as like i think that is chelsea's right to pick because she is giving birth to the baby but i think chelsea if i were to say to have said to her hey would my would it be okay my mom would love to be in the room i don't think chelsea would have turned it down uh it just wasn't an option but i do think that it's the mom's choice on this one like i don't think that the mom like and as a guy and kev i know this because i kev you weren't unfortunately in the the room for joe for joe uh but for um journey you were in the room did who was in the room with nobody so it's

00:45:56 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't even like a question. Like nobody asked for that moment. Yeah. But if Sherelle Mama was in there, then my mama wanted to be in order. I'm like, yeah, why not? How your mama going to get in here? Not my mama. Like, what are we doing?

00:46:06 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, okay. Yeah, so I probably would have said it differently.

00:46:09 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 1:

It's such a vulnerable, like wild moment. There's so much going on.

00:46:15 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 6:

Doctors don't necessarily even want anybody else in there. For sure.

00:46:18 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 1:

I remember Dr. Werner. Andrew and I had said to Dr. Werner, like, we just want it to be the two of us. And I remember Dr. Werner and I said, I think my mom especially is going to have a very hard time with this. And he said, let me and let my nurses be the bad guys. Like have this conversation with your families beforehand. But on that day, like everybody's feelings, you know, are heightened. Let the nurses be the bad guys in this situation. So you guys don't have to.

00:46:44 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Carrie, what's up?

00:46:46 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:46:46 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 6:

What's going on?

00:46:49 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 5:

Not much. So, yeah, my daughter, she was, you know, probably a couple hours before giving birth. And her boyfriend, no lie, sent her a text to say that he would appreciate it if I left. So they could have, it would just be him and her.

00:47:07 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so you're grandma, huh?

00:47:09 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 5:

I am grandma. Oh, I am the grandma.

00:47:12 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 6:

He kicked grandma out of the delivery room. How did that go over?

00:47:16 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 5:

He did. Didn't he have the boss to tell me to leave? He had to send her a text, and she sent me the text.

00:47:22 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 6:

Wow. So what did you?

00:47:22 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 5:

And I looked at her. I'm like, what in the world?

00:47:25 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 6:

Did you leave, or did you go kicking and screaming?

00:47:29 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, I only left because my daughter sent me another text and just didn't want to stir anything up. But I tell you what, she does regret it to this day. I mean, that's not anything that she can get back, you know, that moment.

00:47:44 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 6:

Is the boyfriend still part of the picture?

00:47:46 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 5:

yeah and to top it off he's two years younger than me oh jesus oh my god yeah so yeah it gives

00:47:54 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 6:

you a good indication he's a fruit pie wait a second wait hold on a second hold on google that hold on your boyfriend i don't want to google it because i might have to dump it uh wait your baby daddy your baby daddy was how old and how old was your daughter well he's 47 and she is uh 31 oh my

00:48:12 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 5:

god oh i got you yeah you're telling me that's fun you're telling me that's crazy yeah oh my god

00:48:19 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 6:

that's nuts uh deanna what's up it's mojo in the morning hi i just found because i kind of i've

00:48:25 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

been through it four times with my ex and he wanted his mother in and absolutely not because at that point it's one of those things where it's all about our level of comfortability we're already in enough pain and stress and seeing our baby daddy's rat-faced moms that some of us don't have the best relationship. Wait a second. Rat-faced mom.

00:48:46 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 6:

You just called your mother-in-law the rat-faced mom. Oh, my God.

00:48:50 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, she's not my mother-in-law anymore. I'm good. That woman's the devil.

00:48:54 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 6:

Oh, jeez.

00:48:55 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 4:

But now the guy that I'm with now had, if we were to have kids, yeah, I would absolutely let his mom in. By the way, if you're listening,

00:49:04 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 6:

new mother-in-law, Don't ever get Deanna angry.

00:49:08 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 4:

This woman lives in California. I don't care.

00:49:11 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:49:12 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 4:

But no, it's like I get Kevin's point. It is his baby too. But at that current moment, it's our level of comfortability and awkwardness. Because we don't want every Tom Dick and Harry looking at our hoo-ha. We're already exposed enough. Yeah.

00:49:24 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 1:

Have mom in the room during the labor even. Like hang out. But when it's time to push, everybody can wait outside.

00:49:32 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you my friend's response? That was the absolute funniest part of the conversation. She said if she wants to be in the room, she has to get up on a table and poop in front of me. And then she can be in the birthing room. Really? Yeah, because it is possible for you to poop during labor.

00:49:49 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 6:

I promise you, it's very possible. It's funny that you said that because Kate is on the phone here and the call screen says, Kate, let the dad poop in front of her parents first. Why did you?

00:50:00 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 5:

you say that oh my gosh that's so funny because i have given birth four times and there are other things that happen to your body during the delivery process other than just giving birth yeah and it's a very intimate time and so if he wants to go ahead get naked and poop in front of

00:50:19 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 3:

her parents over and over and over and over and over again oh my god over and over again oh my

00:50:26 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 1:

gosh i didn't i did not know that that's the case that's crazy i hope he call your bluff

00:50:30 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 4:

christina what's up i agree that it depends on the comfortability with the mother-in-law or anything else but it's a very vulnerable state for sure so it's not that the guy's feelings or wanting his mother doesn't matter it should our feelings should matter more at that point

00:50:52 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 1:

And it should be, honestly, it should be a moment, I think, between the dad and the mom where they get to, like, experience it together. But I will tell you, there is no relationship that sometimes is stronger than the relationship of the birthing mother and the mother. So I think sometimes their mothers want to be there to help them go through it.

00:51:12 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing. Let's compromise here then. If we want to pull it on my pants and I got a doo-doo in front of your parents, let's do this then, right? Since you want your mom in the delivery room For that beautiful moment Next time we bake cookies and I put a baby in you I want my mom in there How about that? Is that okay? That's kind of kinky

00:51:28 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 4:

Do you think her mom should be at your vasectomy?

00:51:31 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 2:

I'm not getting a vasectomy Yeah

00:51:34 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 4:

But you know what I mean I'm just saying Does mom need to be there and watch you get a vasectomy?

00:51:40 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm not getting one I can't answer

00:51:41 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

Wait, real quick Hypothetically speaking

00:51:44 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 2:

You know you're wrong You know you're wrong

00:51:49 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 1:

What if she says, okay, your mom can be in the room when you guys can see that child?

00:51:53 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 2:

Here's your chair.

00:51:54 - 00:51:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, God. Listen to you.

00:51:56 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 4:

696? More like 690 sucks.

00:51:59 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning. All right. We're going to give you a brand new car. Not getting one. May the 2nd. May the 2nd, which is what? How many weeks from Friday is that? A couple? 00:52:40 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:42 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

00:52:46 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 3:

So Home Alone director Chris Columbus said in an interview this week with the San Francisco Chronicle that he wishes he could remove Donald Trump's cameo from Home Alone 2 Lost in New York. Do you remember that part when Kevin's walking through the Plaza Hotel? Yes. Excuse me, where's the lobby?

00:53:03 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Down the hall and to the left.

00:53:05 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

Thanks. He said President Trump's seven-second appearance in the movie has become quite a curse. And he said on a sarcastic note, I can't cut it because if I cut it, I'll probably be sent out of the country. I'll be considered sort of not fit to live in the United States. So I'll have to go back to Italy or something. But he said, time to grab your umbrella.

00:53:27 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

It's getting stupid in here, Mojo.

00:53:29 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 3:

He really wants it out of there. Yeah.

00:53:32 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 1:

So he's bringing this up now. This is his thing now.

00:53:35 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 3:

I don't know why he was asked about it. He was asked about it.

00:53:38 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 4:

Does he have a new movie out?

00:53:41 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 1:

Does he?

00:53:42 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

00:53:43 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 1:

know. I just don't know. My things now is like, why get, why are you getting political? Now you just pissed off the, anybody that likes the guy and you're getting political with the movie. Not that it matters anymore, but I didn't know that, did you know that that movie, the only reason that Trump was in the movie was he owned the hotel and as his negotiation, he's, they wanted to film inside there and his negotiation was, yeah, if you want to do it, we'll let you, but you got to put me in the movie. That's fire. But he's been in so much crap. I mean, like when you think about it all the cameos that he's made over the years it's it's wild to think how much the people in like hollywood and the people that even like politically loved him until he became the

00:54:24 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 2:

president yeah and then he became the president now they now they just hate on it'd be like that though it's some people i don't worked with that i don't work in their department and they so cool but then you start working with them and they're not cool anymore yeah do you uh did you see by I don't know Trump, though.

00:54:41 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 1:

Do you see, by the way, President Biden made his first appearance yesterday.

00:54:46 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 3:

Sorry. Say that again.

00:54:47 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 1:

President Biden made his first appearance since he left the White House. He has not been out at all. He spoke in Chicago last night.

00:54:52 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 3:

He was screaming. I saw a clip from his speech.

00:54:55 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

He was like, yeah, really? He wasn't doing the whispering thing anymore. Yeah. He used to do the whispering thing.

00:55:00 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 3:

But it was the first time that we got a chance to see him, which is interesting because presidents usually kind of ride off in the sunset and they aren't seen for like a year or so, kind of letting the new administration kind of do their thing.

00:55:10 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 6:

A crew member from the movie It Ends With Us is now speaking out about the tension between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Hell yeah. A storyboard artist named Talia Spencer gave her take in a new episode of 60 Minutes Australia. and she said she thinks what happened was that Blake mistook Baldoni's kindness for weakness and tried to take control of the movie.

00:55:31 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 1:

Maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness, and tried to take advantage and take power, so, yeah.

00:55:38 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 6:

So you believe Blake Lively wrestled control of the film?

00:55:42 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 1:

I think she tried to, yes.

00:55:44 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 6:

Did she succeed in the end? Probably, yeah. Just a reminder, the courtroom showdown between Justin and Blake is set. A trial date has been scheduled for March of 2026. God bless you if it even gets that far. Jamie Foxx.

00:55:57 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 3:

Is that a sneeze or was that like.

00:55:59 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 6:

It was the cutest little sneeze. I hate sneezing.

00:56:01 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 3:

I thought for a second there, I thought she was like throwing up in a garbage can or something. What?

00:56:05 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 2:

That dainty?

00:56:06 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 3:

It was.

00:56:06 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 2:

Two and a half weeks.

00:56:07 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 6:

Still sick.

00:56:09 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:56:09 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 6:

Still sick, baby. Jamie Foxx spotted with his ex-girlfriend, Alice, hugged step two months after they allegedly broke up, which is kind of funny because it comes on the heels of, remember, he claimed that he is done dating white women.

00:56:24 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that was a joke. She's white.

00:56:25 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 6:

She's white.

00:56:25 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 2:

He might have been talking about cocaine. They, really?

00:56:28 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh my God, I'm so dumb. He called it that white girl. I'm so dumb. I'm so dumb. Okay, moving on to the next story. Ending on a very sweet story, and it just goes to show the heart of Missaganders. This story takes us to Chelsea, Michigan. Do I need to intro it or is there an intro on it?

00:56:43 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

No, you have to intro it. This is just the viral. I have audio from the viral video of this.

00:56:47 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so there is a beloved bookstore in Chelsea called Serendipity Books. And this bookstore announced that it was moving to a larger space in town. And so the shop's owner, her name is Michelle Tuplin, was faced with a logistical challenge. How in the heck was she going to move 9,100 books, plus hundreds of boxes and other stuff, without closing her little shop for days and losing a whole bunch of money? So the community stepped in, and hundreds of people showed up.

00:57:16 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 3:

300 plus people.

00:57:17 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 6:

It's so cute. To form a line from the old bookstore to the new space. And they just passed the books down. It's so cute. Made national news last night. Young, old. Yeah. Community. Kept it going. They're all just doing it. All the books. 9,100 books. I love small communities.

00:57:39 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea, Michigan, which obviously home of Jeff Daniels. Jeff has got that Purple Rose Theater there. Oh, he still lives there. Never moves out. And my favorite interview that we ever had on our show is when we talked to Jeff and asked Jeff about, like, why did you never move from Michigan? He said, have you ever been to Chelsea? I'm like, you know, yeah, I stopped there and pee on my way to Chicago.

00:57:58 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 4:

Stop it. Please tell me that's not what you said.

00:58:01 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 3:

I stop at the Wendy's all the time right off of 94. But Jeff is like, hey, that's what this community is all about. And that's why the Daniels family is always there.

00:58:09 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 5:

I had no idea he was from here. But I didn't know it was Chelsea.

00:58:12 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 3:

He's the legend that he made. Purple Rose, right? Legendary.

00:58:15 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 6:

I used to stay in Ann Arbor all the time. For all of today's Dirty Ketchup on the podcast, just search Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio.

00:58:41 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 3:

There you are. Oh, you're a quiet one. How are you doing, Ashley?

00:58:45 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. I'm just so excited. I'm trying not to move because I'm in my parking lot at work, and if I lose you, I'll be sad.

00:58:51 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. We don't want to. I hate that when you have a cell phone service problem, and all of a sudden you've got to Like, I got to stay right here before, you know, Lydia will grab your information. Which car will you go for first? Do you know, like, a make of a car, a Chevy car, that you think that we're giving away?

00:59:06 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I think the Equinox.

00:59:08 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Maybe. You know what? That's a very good possibility. It could be an Equinox. You go jump towards that thing and see if you find that fob and win a brand new car. You're now in the running, and we're going to qualify two more people before the end of the show today, okay?

00:59:22 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 5:

Ooh, fingers crossed. It's the day after my birthday. Wow.

00:59:25 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 3:

Happy early birthday, Tia. Hold on one second. Lydia's got your info. Mojo in the morning, we were just talking about who's in the delivery room and who's not. Hold on. Casey wants to comment and say something to Kevin. What did you want to say, Casey?

00:59:38 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 4:

I know he said he wasn't going to get a vasectomy, so the next time when he gets his prostate exam, her mom gets to be there for that. She can be in training it on his shoulder.

00:59:46 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 2:

Nah, she can put her hands on my balls. I know. What is right, guys? Do you know where your prostate is? Nah. You can get him a blunt. Is it inside? You know what they do, right? Oh, hell no. Yes. Yes. You never had a process? exam no when are you supposed to get one maybe not too are you 40 i think i was 30 i know you're

01:00:04 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 1:

not 40 but no let's let's google it because i want it to happen now uh when do you want to be your hands when i want no i want to see uh when do you get it's it's the year of our lord and

01:00:16 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 2:

savior 2025 we got to figure out a different way to put your hands on my booty all to see yeah yeah 50 years old 45 for black men oh a little bit earlier do you have a family history Not that I know of. Because then it's 40. It just keeps getting closer and closer. There's no other way to figure out if my prostate is good than putting fingers in my butthole.

01:00:38 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 1:

I want that to happen. Thank you, Casey. That was the greatest line ever. We appreciate you.

01:00:43 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Nobody wanted her there.

01:00:47 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 1:

I want to get to a couple things. First off, I want to thank everybody. We sold out our Mojo in the Morning More Mojo podcast, too. Completely sold out. the podcast is is uh sold out there the only way that you're getting into that thing is if you sneak in and we'll have security but on uh may the 16th at the imagine in royal oak we're going to be doing our more mojo podcast live in front of everybody we'll have our merch on sale too ink detroit thank you to those guys uh for doing our merch uh which by the way you can go up on our instagram and it's pinned up there and click on and get our our merch if you if you you know uh love the show and you want to have something but all the proceeds go to breaking and entering christmas wish and we are so excited for this we're going to be doing a rundown of everything that we're going to talk about coming up here very very soon so thank you to everybody that took part in that and thank you to the imagine and paul and nick and everybody over there uh all right it's mojo in the morning i got a phone call from luke yesterday for those that did not get a chance to see or hear i'll be

01:01:43 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 2:

talking about the last couple days and then i'm done with it but no we need updates until it's

01:01:49 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 1:

gone it's gonna be a while i think i talked to uh the doc yesterday and the doc said that it's probably gonna be a couple month uh thing where so i fell down the stairs at uh a bar in east lansing for dad's weekend with my son luke i drank way too much and i fell down the stairs well luke called me yesterday to say uh dad you have officially reached legend status on michigan State's campus. He said, they still talk about you doing the keg stand out in front of that fraternity house that's across from Crunchy's. And he said that now it's gotten to a point where they're now saying, and he then fell down the stairs at Harper's. Is there like a Michigan State checklist of things you need to do? I feel honestly, can I tell you something? I feel like Like I'm a raging alcoholic or something like that. And I was sober, by the way, for the keg stand. I just wanted you to know that. I was not sober for this one. I want to see it. You want to see it? It's so bad.

01:02:52 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 2:

Prepare yourself. It's so bad. Oh, my. Damn. You darker than me. It's bigger. It's bigger. I know. It's across the whole. It's crack. I got it.

01:03:01 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 1:

You cannot say a-hole on the radio. You are extremely bruised, sir. I am. Yeah. It hurts. I can't wear jeans because jeans are too tight. Jeans are too tight around your waist.

01:03:14 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 2:

No, for real. My jeans are too tight today, so I'm jealous. Does it hurt to even sit right now?

01:03:20 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 1:

It does hurt, yeah.

01:03:21 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

I'd like to stand. Wait, you breathe. I'm exhausted.

01:03:25 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:03:25 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Like, you reminded me. Oh, yeah. I can't even laugh anymore at it. It's so bad. You want to scream?

01:03:33 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm, well. Amica, what did Amica tell you to get?

01:03:36 - 01:03:37 | Speaker 2:

Amica. Amica.

01:03:37 - 01:03:58 | Speaker 1:

Arnica and bromelain. Right now, the biggest thing that they want is they want to, there's a hematoma or whatever the heck it is. I forget what it's called. Hematoma. The hematoma. So they don't want, they want to make sure that the skin doesn't have any issues. It's moving. You know, it's a pretty big, they said it's size, it's 13 inches.

01:03:59 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

They measured it?

01:04:00 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 1:

They measured it. Yeah.

01:04:01 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

It's like a shoe size.

01:04:02 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 1:

That's big.

01:04:03 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Did you have to get an ultrasound on it?

01:04:05 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 1:

I did. I had to do an ultrasound. sound. The lady said it was bigger than the last baby that she had inside there. Do you know how embarrassing it was when I walked in there and she saw it and she goes, Oh my God, it was like,

01:04:21 - 01:04:24 | Speaker 2:

that was so embarrassing. When a medical professional gets shocked, I get scared.

01:04:24 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Like she was a little shocked by it. But, um, I, so here's what I want to ask this question. And I know we talked about drunk stories the other day, so they don't have to be drunk stories. what dumb thing did you do or what thing did you do doesn't have to be dumb thing that has now officially gotten you legendary status like now people all know you maybe it gave you your nickname maybe i should be you know a loser fall fall down the stairs mojo or something like that but um and and i'd love to know i'd love to know what it was that you did and what's the legendary

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

status that you just achieved by doing that because i think i'm going to take over that job of calves and host the michigan state basketball they're gonna be like this guy fell down the

01:05:10 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 1:

stairs at harper's maybe they'll give you one of those flags hanging at the breslin center you know

01:05:15 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 2:

give them a donut to sit on do you think that do you wait do you think that they'll retire my number will they retire and do and do that for me 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what's up morgan how you

01:05:28 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 4:

doing i'm good how are you good you have legendary status morgan um i did for a little while i accidentally slipped and caught myself while i was running at work and really messed up my ankle and i got the only desk job available for like a year oh they gave you the only you know maybe

01:05:50 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 2:

this company needs to give me something for this what do you want maybe i need maybe i need a special i want one of those chair or one of those rolling like carts that you see in the front of walmart that you see just fat people in yeah i want one of those i want to be able to have that to get to and from my parking spot in eastern market here morgan that would be a great start making your demands mojo thank you appreciate that by the way thanks to a 517 who says mojo who hasn't fallen down the steps at harper's i'm not lying to you i don't know how my sister said

01:06:22 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 1:

the same my sister and brother-in-law are both spartans and they as soon as i told them what had happened my brother-in-law was like oh yeah everybody falls down those stairs tell them tell

01:06:31 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 2:

them that it was nuts i first of all i i will admit i did not feel my feet that night that's how bad things were with with me but i had my hokas on and i and the grip they have grip but they did not grip that stair what what's up rich how you doing hey good mojo how you doing good

01:06:50 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 3:

what gave you legendary status so i uh for the last 10 years i was living out in phoenix and um the sons were you know it's the year they went to the nba finals in 2021 yeah and i was at the bar and the news reporter came up and just did a random interview wasn't expecting it so we do do an interview and i don't know what got into me but my analogy of if the sons would have won the finals because they went to the finals like that that night um was pretty much i said that uh if the suns went to the finals you know the valley would be like a pot of boiling water and the lid would you know explode anyways it was kind of ridiculous um so i made it on the news no big deal but then i get a phone call like the next day and said dude you're on jimmy kimmel oh jimmy kimmel yeah so i wasn't even watching but i i look and next thing you know i'm on jimmy kimmel and it's anthony anderson is doing his monologue and he's like it's hard to explain the excitement of your team being in the nba finals but this phoenix fan really slammed the home and there's the clip and there's a clip of me and then he gives me the nickname of mr

01:07:58 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 2:

potato head that's awesome angela what's going on how are you good morning good how are you guys

01:08:07 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 6:

good we're doing great what's happening um i don't know if mine's so legendary but my friends still to this day after about 20 years call me rump roast oh wait well i i do have a little bit of a bigger booty okay so we'll start with that but um we would um we would go well we still do we'll take a canoe trip up up north on the river each year we'll rent rafts and canoes i tipped over two canoes trying to get in and out of one several different times and uh we saved all the liquor it was good but to this day i'm still rump roast in like three people i i by the way hate

01:08:50 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 2:

getting into like canoes because you there's no graceful way to get into a canoe without falling out over or those stand-up boards that they have paddle boards on lakes i i can't stand on the thing everybody's standing up on the thing and going across cast lake and there i am

01:09:06 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

like a little kid on a rowboat what's up sarah hey so i am legendary legendary status on a couple different schools um my oldest my oldest um who graduated in 21 um when it was his junior year in high school they were on a band trip to Tennessee and while they were stopping in Dollywood we were running back to get to the bus and I tried to be cool and jump the curb and I ended up supermating and breaking my wrist and so for the whole ride back from Tennessee I was riding a bus with a broken wrist for 14 hours it seemed like and things like that. So everybody, I still hear stories too.

01:10:00 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 3:

this day um and he like hey remember that mom that broke her wrist at hollywood and i was like yeah that's me everything like that yeah just recently my my senior now in high school he's at um saint mary's they were trying to do a food run but no other parent would call their kid out to grab the food except for me so ever i get a text from all of the kids saying ma you're the best because I called my kid out to grab the food for the food run.

01:10:34 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though, Mom? You need to send your kid to East Lansing so that we can party together, okay?

01:10:40 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 3:

For sure. Well, he's going to OU right now. He's been accepted to Oakland University. That's awesome. Congratulations to him. Maybe he will win if they play.

01:10:48 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I was going to say I'll buy him his first beer, legal, of course, at Harper's, because I'm going to own that son of a bitch.

01:10:56 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 5:

You need a drink named after you at the very least. I know. They don't make a drink called the Tumblr.

01:11:01 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 1:

The Tumblr? I like that. What's up, Brandy?

01:11:07 - 01:11:08 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo.

01:11:08 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Hi, what's going on?

01:11:09 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 2:

I haven't reached legendary status, but before you drop the topic of your incident, I just wondered what kind of, you know, how hard of a time did Chelsea give you with all this?

01:11:21 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

I'll be honest with you. I think she's just tolerating me right now. Like, I think it's now gotten to a point where I think that she is, she does, Chelsea is very compassionate. When I went through my heart surgery, nobody nursed me better than Chelsea. Like, that's when I realized, man, I got the one. But I'm telling you, I think she's a little over it right now. Like, I think she's now at a point where she's like, enough already.

01:11:44 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but to be honest, have you seen his bruise? Have you seen the video on our socials at Mojo in the Morn?

01:11:51 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

I absolutely did, and it is horrible. Horrible. I have heard crickets about Chelsea, so I was pretty sure she probably gave you an earful after your eventful weekend.

01:12:02 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 4:

Because I think this is one of those things when you hear, oh, he fell down his stairs like, oh, what an idiot. And then when you see it, immediately you can't mock him. You feel bad.

01:12:10 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 1:

It was.

01:12:11 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:12:13 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 1:

It hurt, but I think that Chelsea's at a point now where you know how you do this with your kids? When your kid falls, you got to go suck it up a little bit. You know what I mean? Like, you got to tell the kid, all right, dust it off, rub some dirt on it and stuff?

01:12:27 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 2:

I think I would be, like, rolling around in the bed a little bit. I would, like, torture you just a little bit. Just a little bit. Hold on. Just wobble the bed.

01:12:36 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 1:

She's on right now. She's on right now. Chelsea, hi.

01:12:39 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:12:40 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 1:

Brandy has a question for you. Go ahead, Brandy.

01:12:44 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, I just wondered. We've heard crickets about how you reacted or how your thoughts on Mojo's incident with his back, his fall.

01:12:54 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, I feel very bad for him. It looks like it hurts a lot. But we should not drink. And by the way, I gave birth three times and had a fourth degree episiotomy. So I'm not feeling that.

01:13:18 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 1:

I did say this, Chelsea. I'm right there with you. I said, Chelsea, you were amazing when I had my heart surgery, but that was something that happened upon me. You have no compassion, I don't think, for my back right now, do you?

01:13:28 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 5:

I do. I have a lot of compassion for you. I feel sorry for you, but every five minutes, it's like, oh, God, I think it's getting better, bigger. Oh, my God. Oh, my God, look at it. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. And I am trying to be very compassionate about it.

01:13:42 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 1:

Dr. Warner came over to the house to make a house call to me yesterday. Oh, he did? And he came over, and Chelsea's like. Oh, of course he did. Chelsea's like my doctor is here to see your back. He's a vagina doctor seeing your back

01:13:57 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, he did come over to take a splinter out of your finger too Are you kidding me?

01:14:05 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 4:

No, he did not

01:14:06 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea, when these things happen, you need to text us

01:14:10 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 4:

and get photo proof. Be honest, how bad was it?

01:14:13 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 5:

I came home I came home and to him like, you know, ow, ow, ow, ow when he was hitting a splinter. Oh, my God.

01:14:23 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 1:

You're out of control. He's a great friend. Mark Horner is the greatest human being. You're out of control.

01:14:28 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea.

01:14:29 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea.

01:14:30 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 5:

That's what I deal with. Chelsea.

01:14:32 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Love you. Come on, Mojo. You're used to wood in your hands. You should have been on it. Chelsea, you understand. By the way, Chelsea, I am a legend in East Lansing. Just know that, okay? They're going to be putting a sign down for me, okay? Welcome to East Lansing. Home of the fall. All right. Home of the fall. Home of the fall. We'll talk to you later. I love you. Bye. Mojo.

01:14:56 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 4:

He likes big butts and he cannot lie.

01:14:58 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the morning.

01:15:00 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit, WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:15:12 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 2:

Live, Mojo.

01:15:18 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 1:

Five, four, three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:15:28 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, are you ready?

01:15:30 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:32 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 2:

You're a doo-doo head. Hey, coming up this hour, second date update. What he did, unforgivable. You'll hear that at 8.20. Before that, we'll get to a couple of topics. Shannon with the text that almost ruined her marriage. And Kevin, you can't propose without a ring. We'll get into both of those coming up this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We are giving away a baby, IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center. I can't say, and the Ohio Fertility Centers. It's like turning off the road on some exits and you're going too fast. You're almost like, oh my God, am I going to make it? That car's going to tip over.

01:16:17 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Am I going to make it? That's when you just say, come in and hot, and it forgives every mistake you're making.

01:16:20 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Centers are giving away babies, and we are giving them to you. If you go to our Instagram or Facebook, you'll see Mojo gives you a baby up there, and you could be one of our winners this year. We want to make your dream of having a baby come true, and thank you to Dr. Shama and everybody over on his great staff. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show, the text that almost ruined Shannon's marriage.

01:16:47 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so we were, we being Wes and I, actually, when this happened, Luce and Smith were home because there were, it was, it was a lot of people in our bed. All four of us were in the bed and Wes was doing some work on his computer and he has it set up kind of like mine, Mojo, I don't know if yours is too, because he has an Apple, where you can see like whatever it is that he's working on, but then you can see like his string of text messages on the side of the screen. Do you have that? I do have texts that come up. texting at the same time as he's working on whatever yeah and i see because it's right there so i happen to look over and i see in the string of text messages yes we do love us um one one from a random number and this is what the person had written thank you so much and then a little red heart you look as hard as well it's right there so i point to the number it's like a 510 area code And I go, who is that? Who is that? And he clicked into it, and it was the only message in the conversation. So to me, it looked like a text string had been deleted, and that came through, and that was the only message in there. And the heart. And the red freaking heart.

01:18:01 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I just Googled 510.

01:18:03 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I Googled it too.

01:18:04 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 2:

And 510 says, the East Bay region of San Francisco, California. He was just over there, wasn't he? Wasn't he in California just recently?

01:18:12 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. So not that part of California, but yes, he was in California. So I'm sitting in bed and the kids are watching, you know, I don't know what they were watching and I'm trying to play it cool. But I, inside I have so much anxiety about like, this is, this kind of feels weird to me. I Google, where is the 510 area code? Now, unbeknownst to him, like I'm freaking out internally and um it was really bugging me the kids had gone to bed and I think he could tell that something was up and he asked me you know what's going on and I finally admitted to him that it like I just was feeling a certain way about it it was making me uncomfortable and he was like Shan the this is one he goes I get these every single day these weird spam messages where they'll text you something and it doesn't even make sense and it's coming from all different random numbers and he's like this is the one I got today and I'm like really okay he goes watch this so he responds back he texted the word huh to this person and what came back was a bunch of I don't know Chinese symbols you know and it was Chinese symbols Eva Chinese symbols and he's like it is it's like this spam thing you never get those texts because I get those all the time too no the only tech the only weird texts that i get are for like i i need to pay a toll or whatever but i also give a fake phone number for everything yeah um which is why i didn't really get robocalls during the election or anything like that but this so now he's been getting them like this was a couple of days ago he's been getting them and every day he gets one he screenshots it and he's like this is today's this is you know poor west just to prove that

01:19:59 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 2:

They...

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 1:

There's nothing worse than being accused of something.

01:20:04 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 4:

Mine, not even when your marriage flashed before my eyes in bed that night. And he was like, Shannon.

01:20:10 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 1:

And then, you know, you're in a situation where you feel like you have to, especially because you're sitting there in bed.

01:20:16 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 4:

And I don't want to make a big deal of it in front of the kids.

01:20:19 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:20:19 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 4:

You know? But even today, I'm like, I'm so evil.

01:20:21 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 1:

Kids, it's time for you to go to your room.

01:20:24 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Should be where the Rose is him right now with me. Do you want to call him? Yeah, call him. Yeah.

01:20:28 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Wes and I are going to have a conversation. Those things, by the way, suck. I hate those texts that come in. The one that I keep getting all the time was, great seeing you the other day. And it's like, great seeing you the other day could be somebody different. But I also realize this. If I don't have their number saved, typically I didn't give them my number. Because usually what I do is, if I give somebody my number, I always text them and text them, you know, Tom, my real name. Hey, it's Shannon. And then put Mojo in parentheses or something if they read them through radio.

01:21:03 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 4:

And it didn't help that I don't get these. So I wasn't like, oh, it's one of those weird spam messages. To me, I was like, who the heck are you texting? And she's texting, you know, or he.

01:21:12 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Amanda, what's going on?

01:21:14 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I just wanted to share that I get these weird text messages, too, from like weird California numbers. And it's these girls asking me advice on their adult diapers. And they send a picture. And I don't know who these women are.

01:21:28 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 1:

So you actually will answer back?

01:21:31 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, because I'm scared. My husband's like, don't respond to it. It's a spam. And I'm like, okay, but I keep getting them from different, like, girls in, like, a T-shirt and an adult pull-up diaper.

01:21:41 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 1:

I would never. Don't ever. Don't ever. Don't ever respond to these things, and don't click on links. Because clicking on links is worse than responding, because you just gave them all your access. What's up, Sean?

01:21:54 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo?

01:21:56 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 1:

It's going okay.

01:21:57 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 2:

First time, long time. What's going on, Sean? Not much. I was just listening to what you guys were talking about. And so from my personal opinion, I guess I'm a lot compared to my wife as well. And I think it's because the hack spammers or what I would call hackers know that women are more curious and liable to click on those links just to do a little bit more digging into it. And once you click on them links, they can send malware to your device and access all types of information.

01:22:33 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 4:

This didn't have a link. It was just the text.

01:22:36 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 1:

Just the text. But they want you to engage so that they'll send a link. So you're saying that women get them more? Because Shannon doesn't get them at all.

01:22:44 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no. Men get them more because the woman is liable to go snooping, digging into it more. A man will kind of look at it, question it, and once he gets his answer, he kind of just moves on.

01:22:56 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 1:

So because I what I do all the time is when I get one of those text messages, I hit the on the bottom. It will say the spam, you know, thing like report a spam and I'll report it as spam. And I report a lot of those ones. And I always wondered why the cell phone company doesn't ever send you a response back on what why you're getting something like that. You know what I mean? Like I just got one right now.

01:23:15 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 2:

You got to hit the spam on the exact number every time. You know, the cell phone companies literally just got this. I don't believe they're just going to block numbers randomly.

01:23:25 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 1:

So I got one just now that just said that it said, hi, Thomas, we're doing some work in your area and we'll be pleased to provide you with a free quote for removal of junk from your property. Any projects in mind?

01:23:39 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so that's really weird that you say that because I did get one yesterday about landscaping and I thought it was like a kid in my neighborhood. I'm like, how did you get my number? Which I didn't respond.

01:23:48 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 1:

Underneath it, it says report junk. And I think if it says report junk and then I delete and report the junk. So I just literally just did it right now. i wonder if the phone also us talking about it i don't click on them at all no they buy your

01:24:00 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 2:

is that really yes that's what that's what nicole says someone else please call in so i don't feel

01:24:06 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 4:

like the only idiot who accused my husband did you actually call the person back and say or did no he texted the number back just to show me right yeah what's up uh courtney hi can i just

01:24:18 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

say it's so nice to hear everyone finally back on the radio right Megan is back it's such a joy but I get emails that say um I get emails that say if I don't pay a certain amount of money they will expose my camera roll and they will like put everything out which no I I have three kids and two dogs that's all pictures of my kids and then it's on it's just not good pictures of me and my husband that my kids take and i know it's spam because there is nothing that's gonna expose me on there there's nothing exciting you don't ever do a naughty in the uh the mirror i don't know i'm too old for that oh come on you are

01:25:00 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 2:

not old. Stop that. You're never too old for that. How old are you? 32. Oh my God. You're

01:25:06 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 4:

prime. Don't you ever just want to make a deal? Like for me personally, if you were going to post my photos like that, where I'm in my bra and underwear, if you post the bad ones, you better post the good ones too. That's all I ask. Show the progress. All right.

01:25:18 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 3:

Lisa, what's up, Lisa? Hey, so I have a funny story. So one day my boyfriend was doing work on the roof and i needed to use his phone for something and as i'm using it a message comes through and it says hey it was nice being with you and the picture came through of this young lady

01:25:38 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 2:

oh jeez it's a picture shannon would have shannon would have kicked him off the roof she would have gone up there his car on fire she would have grabbed the ladder and took it away so

01:25:48 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 3:

he couldn't get down jump that was my first thought so i go outside and i look up there and i got the phone in my hand and i'm like hey and i can see it's really busy and i'm like okay i'll wait so another picture comes through and now her top is off oh no oh my god so then another picture comes through and it's showing her butt and i'm like what the hell her name is the same as mine lisa and so i bring him in the house and i'm like you know is there anything you need to Tell me, you know, who is this young lady? Here, it was a spam the whole time, and I literally was freaking out because I thought he knew this girl.

01:26:26 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 2:

Famous words you do not want to hear from your wife. Is there anything you need to tell me? When I ever hear those words come out of my wife's mouth, I am running out of the house.

01:26:37 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 1:

What did he say when you showed him the phone in the photos?

01:26:41 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, the look on his face was quite list because he absolutely had no clue. And at that point, I kind of didn't believe him because it just seemed so real. Yes. So when we kept trying to call back, it wouldn't answer. And at that point, I kept telling him, listen, you've got to stop clicking on these links. You've got to stop opening certain pages. You've got to stop going to websites. Because these people get your number, and it makes it look like you're having an affair or you're doing something you're not supposed to be doing.

01:27:09 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe that you let him off the roof, to be honest with you. I was shocked by that.

01:27:13 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 3:

yeah it was either him coming down or me going up

01:27:18 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 2:

no that would have been bad all right thank you for the call i appreciate it

01:27:22 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 3:

you viewed my snap you read my text no callback second date update is coming up at 8 20 on mojo

01:27:30 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 2:

in the morning all right it is the mojo in the morning show uh home of war of the roses second update, Dirty on the 30. Kev, you witnessed something that you say it can't happen this way. What's going on?

01:27:45 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't think it can, but then there's a piece of me that says it shouldn't matter either way. So, working for the Pistons, and we're not the only franchise or arena that does this. It happens anywhere, but fans have the opportunity to purchase packages to where you can get happy birthday messages on a jumbotron, or you can shout out your friends. And lately, we've been seeing a lot of promposals. So young men are saying, you know, Shannon, will you go to prom? Yeah, and then the camera shows them, and then I'll say a little something. And we've also had actual proposals. And some of them are amazing. One of the dancers just got proposed to. Shout out to her. That was incredible. But then fans get proposed to as well. And this one fan, you know, they show them on the camera. First, it'll say the name. Shannon, will you marry me? And then the music comes on. We played a Jagged Edge, Let's Get Married, starts playing. And the cameraman finds their seat. And the guy is sitting in his chair. His girl is next to him. He gets on his knee. First weird thing happens. She pulls out her phone and starts recording. So I'm like, you're not even in the moment for real. Like, how are you? Somebody else is recording. She's holding her phone. He gets down on one knee. Never pulls out a ring. Never pulls out a box or anything like that. gets back in his chair and she nods and i'm like is it a yes is it a yes she nods her head i'm like where's the ring like he just put all his money on the seats or something no ring at all through

01:29:16 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 4:

the whole proposal no ring at all no kiss no kiss at all that wasn't real that's what that wasn't

01:29:22 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 2:

real it couldn't have been right no can you propose without a ring like has anybody ever

01:29:27 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

been proposed to without a ring and that's where that's where my dilemma is because that's what you see is that moment where you open the box and there's the ring but if you love the person are you

01:29:36 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 4:

what are you gonna say no here's the only acceptable way to do it did you guys watch sweet home alabama yes oh yeah and where he proposes with no ring and then takes her to the clothes tiffany's for her to pick out her ring yeah that's the only acceptable time to propose without a ring i i like in that situation kev though that took some pre-planning pre-planning enough where you're bringing a ring with you right so maybe he didn't have one he but he bought the package to get the thing up

01:30:08 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 8:

on the jumbotron selected the game come on told him where his seats were gonna be so the camera people knew where to go and just didn't show with the ring yeah i i don't know i think that you can't

01:30:17 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 7:

propose without a ring unless you have circumstances that cause for that because if i saw this happen like in a restaurant if i was in a restaurant and a guy got on his you know knees what is he doing Is he fake putting a ring on? What is he doing? Just grabbing her hand? That's what he did. Will you marry me? He got down.

01:30:32 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 8:

He held her whole hand. Also, you cannot pull out your phone and start recording your own proposal.

01:30:40 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 7:

I'm thinking that's...

01:30:42 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 8:

So, Shannon, y'all have the beautiful Paris proposal vibes, all of that. Yeah. Wes get down on his knee and no ring. You saying no?

01:30:50 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm not saying no, but I'm really, really disappointed. I also don't... If I'm being honest. I don't think I'd believe it.

01:30:57 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:30:57 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 4:

So it's not real, not a ring? Well, no, not that it's not real. His intentions might be there, but the first thing in my head is, is this a joke?

01:31:05 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 7:

Hey. Yeah. Kim, your husband proposed with not a ring but another piece of jewelry. What did he do?

01:31:13 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 1:

His earring. We were actually, yeah, he wanted me to pick out my own ring. So he got down on his knee and proposed with that diamond earring.

01:31:25 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 7:

Wait, whose earring was it?

01:31:28 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 1:

It was him.

01:31:28 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 7:

He took an earring out of his ear and gave you his earring in his ear. First off, he was wearing the diamond earring in his ear?

01:31:37 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:31:38 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 7:

And he took it right out of his ear and gave it to you.

01:31:40 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 8:

What do you say?

01:31:41 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 7:

I just think that's kind of weird. I like you guys for earring. Really?

01:31:44 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 4:

I do. Oh, I'm saying no if you've got diamond earring. If you've got a nose ring, I'm going to say yes before you even propose.

01:31:50 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 7:

No, I would be like, get some fashion sense, get that earring out of your ear.

01:31:53 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 8:

Maybe if it was like a hoop earring because it could actually go around her finger.

01:31:57 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Is it real gold? I don't know. Are we still married to this day?

01:32:01 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 3:

4-2 Garrett? We are almost 30 years. You know what?

01:32:05 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

He did the diamond ring because he wanted to use that diamond and customize my ring with it.

01:32:10 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 8:

So he took his own earring out and then used that as the diamond for your ring.

01:32:15 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 7:

Does he still have earrings in his ear? Gotcha. Yeah, he does. Or did he get rid of that? Was that just a... No.

01:32:20 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 3:

Guys, I don't know how I feel about that. Was it an impressive diamond, though? Because if you're wearing something, I was going to say, if you got some big-ass diamonds in your earrings, give it to me.

01:32:28 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 7:

Then you're okay. It doesn't matter where they come from.

01:32:30 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 8:

Shouldn't your wedding ring be, like, special? Not, like, an earring of Jace?

01:32:36 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:32:36 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 8:

Why not, though? Shout out to her, though. She loves me. That's her vibe.

01:32:40 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 7:

Paris. What did you want to say, Paris?

01:32:43 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 5:

Mojo. This is your Gemini twin. What's going on? What's up, Paris? How you doing, buddy? um i feel kevin because i was feeling the mood of proposing at a movie theater it was the right moment right time ring wasn't ready but i had the box that it gave me so i proposed no ring no one saw it but looked like you know the ring was in there you know so i get it i get it you know but she got the ring later on but at the moment the ring wasn't ready you pulled out a box

01:33:11 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 4:

that didn't have a ring in it?

01:33:12 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 2:

No. No. Yeah, I had to.

01:33:15 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:33:16 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 8:

You did not have to.

01:33:17 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 2:

No. Say it again. That's worse. You, you, it's a dog, mother****.

01:33:24 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 6:

Wow, that's wild. Paris. Empty box, Paris.

01:33:28 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 8:

They just give out boxes? It's like April Fool's Day. I would throw that box in your face. Wait, did you open the box soon?

01:33:36 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 7:

I would be like, there's no way.

01:33:37 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 3:

But again, that would be hurtful. Yes. To get that excitement and then it be empty?

01:33:43 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 7:

Laurel, what's up?

01:33:45 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi, guys.

01:33:47 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 7:

Hi. What's going on?

01:33:50 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

So just wanted to tell you, you know, we dated my guy for like nine years. We were in the right place at the right time at a park that was special to us. He got the guts to propose, did not have a ring, and it was just perfect. It was right.

01:34:11 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 7:

Really?

01:34:12 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 2:

But we went shopping that next week and we picked out our rings together.

01:34:19 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 7:

Okay. All right. What did he do then?

01:34:21 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 2:

He insisted on a big stone

01:34:23 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 7:

that I never would have bought.

01:34:25 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 2:

And we're still married 39 years later.

01:34:28 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 7:

That's wonderful.

01:34:29 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 3:

If you dated for nine years, he didn't think I should buy a ring at some point?

01:34:36 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if he had the guts. He wasn't raised that way. He was just a real simple country boy.

01:34:44 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:34:45 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 2:

That's sweet. But we were just right, you know?

01:34:49 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 7:

What if the guy were to propose to you and give you one of those? Remember those cookies, those butter cookies that you used to have when you were a little kid? I proposed to a girl with one of those cookie rings. You ever see those things? No.

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 1:

I've seen a ring pop.

01:35:01 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 2:

Ring pop. I liked the Keebler ones that had the hole in the middle with the fudge drizzle.

01:35:06 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 1:

And you would give it to the girl and you would ask her to do it. And then you realized that she had a fat finger and it couldn't fit on her finger. Oh, my God. You're insane. You're insane. Mean. What's going on, Chris? How you doing? Hey, how's it going? Good. What's going on? Can you propose without a ring?

01:35:21 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 4:

so back when i was a manager for radio shack um i didn't have money for a ring so i took a square led and i took soldering wire and i made a ring i soldered it together oh my god what'd she

01:35:37 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 1:

say she said yes i was gonna say you said she said no way she said i'm not marrying the guy from Radio Shack, I'll go to the Circuit City guy instead. Did it light up?

01:35:51 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 4:

No, no, it didn't light up or anything.

01:35:54 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 1:

There's a non-lighting up LED? You didn't even charge it.

01:35:58 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't add a battery to it, and I was drunk when I proposed and told her I was doing it to piss her mom off.

01:36:04 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Okay, this just sounds like a big disaster. Oh, my God, who would say yes

01:36:08 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 1:

to this? You're not together anymore, are you?

01:36:12 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 4:

We're still together after 14 years.

01:36:14 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. Well, you have a story.

01:36:16 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 1:

That is amazing. Wow. Hold on a second. Alyssa, hi.

01:36:22 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So I have a really funny story.

01:36:25 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:36:26 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 2:

My daughter's dad proposed with the rings that the girl bought. What? Because he couldn't afford them. Yes. They knew each other for a week. They were married for a week. After a week, he called me to have me kick her out for him. What? Now he's married to a girl with my name after knowing her for two months.

01:36:45 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. hold on a second stop for one second you got too much flow chart going here because i'm looking at the call screen board and it says my ex proposed to his new wife with a ring that she bought he didn't even buy it so okay that was the first relationship that was the first one yes and then this years ago and then the second one he proposed with what this one i don't know what he proposed

01:37:08 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 2:

with but i do know that he had my name on his back proposing to a girl named alissa also So, and he got that when I was engaged to my fiance.

01:37:19 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 1:

Unreal. You know, you should let him have the ring so that he could have proposed with that ring. Could you imagine if the guy proposes with a ring from the last relationship that he was in?

01:37:28 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 2:

He could have used the one that he used to propose with me. I don't know. He's proposal happy. Is that bad? He is. Yes, you cannot reuse a ring.

01:37:35 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 1:

Alyssa, is he still with this person or is he single still?

01:37:39 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 2:

um they've made it almost three weeks so we'll see how far they get okay let us know we want to

01:37:47 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 1:

tell them if they want to get proposed to at the pistons game or married at the pistons game kevin

01:37:53 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

can work it out for them got you oh let's let them work it out themselves take care of yourself

01:37:58 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 4:

thanks for the call tap that app mojo in the morning on the iheart radio app tap that app

01:38:04 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 1:

finding out what's going on. Colin went on a date only to have her completely blow him off. and he wants to know what's going on. Colin, you haven't heard from her after you guys went out to eat and had a great dinner together. Did you guys do anything after dinner?

01:38:40 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we didn't. Basically, like, we met at a bar and then took her on a date to my favorite restaurant. I thought it was going great, and I don't know. She was being, like, standoffish and quiet towards the end of the date, and I don't know why. um so i mean i only kissed her goodbye and i was i thought i was being super polite but

01:39:04 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 1:

so actually she did not show much interest during the date so it's not one of those situations where it's like man you know i really thought things went great and i want to get on another date with her you kind of want to know what it was that made her so standoffish we're going to find out for you right now ashlyn is on the phone with us right now ashlyn will you say hello to colin

01:39:25 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 3:

hi hey what's going on Ashlyn

01:39:32 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm good Ashlyn were you not interested at all in Colin are you probably sitting there thinking to yourself why is he calling me to hear more

01:39:43 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 2:

I mean he did he did give me an allergic reaction so

01:39:50 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 1:

by the way that's the newest way of saying i didn't like the guy he gave me an allergic reaction how did that happen are you being serious are you joking about that just using as a term no I'm being dead serious um he ordered a salad with almonds I told him and he knows I told him I was allergic even then I told him I was allergic but he still ordered it anyway and he was like oh well are you airborne I'm like no but still you know like I thought that was strange and then I didn't say anything to him and after he ordered it he said oh you'll be fine like you're you're gonna be fine and i was like that is so insensitive did you eat the salad or he ate the salad no i didn't eat the salad i told him i'm allergic he ate the

01:40:41 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 7:

salad okay okay so what was then what was bad with him ordering the the the salad

01:40:46 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 1:

well he kissed me goodbye and drive yep like driving home i started getting that reaction and it got so bad and I mean it like it was on me like I completely forgot that yeah yeah about the part so like I kissed him and I was but you know you don't think about that as quickly so after he kissed me my reaction got so bad I had to go to the hospital oh my gosh so Colin you

01:41:14 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 7:

didn't know this at all she didn't text you and tell you that she got an allergic reaction this

01:41:18 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 3:

first no and like why like you you were if it was such a big deal like you you didn't have to kiss me like you could have said like you need to go brush your teeth or something first and like what why can't are you kidding the almonds why can't i just have the almonds in my salad like i don't think that's so said no one around you can have almonds ever

01:41:42 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 5:

i mean if someone is a what the hell no i mean it's so i kind of understand where he's coming from he's you're you're saying it just shut up let us talk for you you're not saying it very nicely but i do so i have a million food allergies weston has a shellfish allergy we go out he's not airborne he has to actually ingest it i will still order something that has shrimp in it because i love shrimp but i you know how much do you have to brush your teeth to get the shrimp out of your

01:42:13 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 7:

breath or whatever out of your mouth so he doesn't get his foodborne i just don't like i i don't know

01:42:17 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 6:

you never had that happen no like i understand that though if i'm in a relationship a committed a relationship like shannon and wes then at that point yeah i'm gonna order what i want to order this is a first date type of vibe it's other stuff on the mean exactly but but but with that said

01:42:30 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 7:

you're you're on a date and she says yeah i have a i have a peanut allergy i'm not thinking i gotta

01:42:36 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 4:

look for peanuts on my stuff i'm not thinking that anything's gonna happen where this is gonna affect you but quite honestly as somebody who doesn't have food allergies i wouldn't even know that me eating it would affect us at the end of the night if we had a i think it's polite though

01:42:51 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm also very hyper aware. Like I am anaphylactic to avocados. It's so random. I understand this. But I am very. What does anaphylactic mean? Her throat. My throat closes. If I, if I. What?

01:43:02 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 6:

She don't get gas.

01:43:03 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 5:

No, my throat would close. If I ingested something with avocado, avocado oil, whatever, guacamole. And so I am hyper aware of like everything that I'm consuming.

01:43:16 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:43:17 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 5:

Or in this case, you know, like you said yourself, Ashlyn, it was an oversight when he went to kiss you. You kind of forgot that he had the almond. Like, I think the whole thing is just kind of a big.

01:43:27 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 7:

Misunderstanding.

01:43:28 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he didn't do it on purpose. First date vibes, bro. If they're allergic, don't order it.

01:43:34 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 4:

It ain't that deep. I just wouldn't think it would affect you. I truly wouldn't think it would affect you.

01:43:38 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 5:

If she said, yes, I'm airborne allergic to almonds and you still order it, well, then you're a dick. 100%.

01:43:46 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 6:

I don't think you're a dick anyway. She said I'm allergic. Why even go that way?

01:43:51 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 7:

Kyle, what are your thoughts on this one? It's second date update here right now.

01:43:57 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

01:43:57 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Kyle.

01:43:59 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning.

01:44:00 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

01:44:00 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? After that whole thing and she explained it, he was kind of basically just like, why can't I just sort of kill you?

01:44:10 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 7:

What's the problem with that? Oh, come on. He did.

01:44:14 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 2:

I guess he did kind of.

01:44:16 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he did not explain it. He's a jerk, but is the situation jerk behavior, is my question.

01:44:26 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 7:

I don't even know if he's a jerk.

01:44:27 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 4:

He came off a little jerky today.

01:44:30 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 7:

He's a mouth breather, I think. What's going on? What's happening? How are you doing, Jen?

01:44:35 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm wonderful, Tommy.

01:44:36 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 7:

How are you doing? Fantastic, Jennifer. I love that. That's great. Do you know Shannon's real name? I do not. Gertrude.

01:44:50 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 5:

Gertie's actually not a real name. I'm not mad at that. I know a Gertie.

01:44:56 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 7:

What did you want to say, Jen?

01:44:58 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I wanted to say, well...

01:45:00 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 7:

Well, Kevin kind of said at first, what did a-hole, it's a first date vibe, order something else just to show consideration, be accommodating. Oh, that's cool. Other things on the menu. And then he said the comment while I was waiting about, can't I kind of kill you? Had you skipped the nuts in the salad, you could have done that later with another thing on your body.

01:45:21 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 2:

Let's not forget, he did say, are you airborne? Like, he did make sure that it wasn't going to affect her to just have it on the table.

01:45:31 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 4:

Here's a question, because I am allergic to gluten. If I'm allergic to gluten, I go on a date with you or you go on a date with somebody with a gluten allergy. Should you order gluten-free? No. Not because cross-contamination obviously does get me sick. But I'm saying in general, like, if you go out to eat, should you say, you know what? I'm going to order gluten-free appetizers for both of us because I want to make sure that you can eat the stuff.

01:45:54 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 5:

If I'm vegan, do you have to order vegan?

01:45:56 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the thing. All the steak paste.

01:45:59 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 5:

No, bro. Let's draw lines.

01:46:00 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, see that? Draw lines. Where's the line? You're nuts.

01:46:02 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 6:

No, you gluten. Gluten is almost good.

01:46:06 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 4:

No gluten. So you're okay? I go to the bathroom intensely with gluten allergy. What's up, Ashley?

01:46:12 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Gluten is Crohn's and colitis. Okay, but also, it makes me uncomfortable then if you are making a big deal out of, oh, I don't want to get anything with avocado. I don't want to make sure. Please order what you want to order.

01:46:22 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 6:

It's not that deep.

01:46:22 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 4:

I was just like, let me get a burger. I think you should know your own allergy, and I think that if you know your own allergy, you don't kiss the guy. What's going on, Allison?

01:46:30 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 9:

I think y'all tripping, and she's tripping too. So how you gonna tell this man what he can eat and what he can't eat? I don't like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or relish, so that mean the man can't order a burger the way he want to eat it when he go out with me? That's crazy. That's different.

01:46:44 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 6:

You're not gonna die off my relish. And she, like, what did she send me kissing on the first date then? That's crazy. I mean, I'm with you there, too. I just feel like if he was trying to, like my first lady said, if he was going to be considerate, trying to smash her, trying to show that he was a listener and affectionate, let me just not get the almond salad. First off, why is he ordering almond salads? Well, that's not the guy you want to be with.

01:47:11 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

Toya, what's up? It's Mojo on the morning.

01:47:13 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 6:

It's Dorothy's friend. Hey, I want to talk to you.

01:47:16 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 10:

Don't do that. I disagree with Kevin. Sorry, Kev, but I do. I have a severe shellfish allergy. And one, I know that, so I keep my EpiPen on me. So if anything were to happen or I were to kiss or anything, I have something on me for that reason. But I also want to know, why was she being standoffish during the day? Because before the kids did all of that. Great question.

01:47:37 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 4:

All right, let's ask that question. Ashlyn, you weren't into it from the get-go because he said that you were standoffish before you guys even kissed.

01:47:46 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 8:

I was standoffish because when I said, hey, I'm allergic to almonds, he was like, well, we'll order it anyway. And I'm like, okay, like, it just felt like insensitive and he doesn't respect me. And that's when it kind of started plummeting a little bit. Okay.

01:48:02 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 4:

But he was ordering, were you ordering it, Colin, for yourself or for both of you guys?

01:48:07 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

I was ordering it for myself. And listen, I'm sorry if I came off as a jerk, but the moment was not like this big thing where she's like, if I come into contact, I'm going to die. and uh she was just like oh just to let you know i'm allergic and i'm i was like oh so but like airborne and she said no and so i was like yeah she didn't seem to make that big a deal of it but then yeah she got quiet it was that big of a deal she could have said something you know well i did

01:48:34 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 8:

say something and i feel like if you were considerate since you ordered the almonds you could have been like hey listen let's not kiss tonight i know you ordered almonds like let's do whatever like just because i know that i ordered it and i was but that's also your responsibility yeah cool that's true but it's still insensitive on the first day and i get what he was talking about um that like on the first day like just be considerate like on the second third cool like we

01:49:02 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 5:

already understand at that point it's okay to get an allergy and i'm sorry i'm sorry somebody who does not have food allergies just to reiterate i would not know this is a problem like i it wasn't like he knew if I kiss her, she's going to have an allergic reaction to this because he's not well versed in your allergy. And then you blame him for this. Yeah. Like that's not being inconsiderate. That's being ignorant. And that those are different things. Second

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:50:06 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 4:

Let's get a look at what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30 from Shannon. And what's going on, Shannon? What have we got here?

01:50:14 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, the internet thinks that Rihanna is dropping hints that she and ASAP Rocky are getting married if they're not already married, which I fully believe they are. But she unveiled the brand new Savage by Fenty Bridal Collection on Instagram. And it's her in one of the outfits, complete with a veil and a large white wedding cake as part of this photo shoot. And the caption was very interesting. Here comes the bride.

01:50:41 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

01:50:42 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 1:

Which, yes, it's a bridal collection, but I don't know.

01:50:45 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 4:

Do we think that she's like Taylor Swift and drops these little hints all the time?

01:50:53 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 1:

Is this an Easter egg? Maybe. This is like a clear-ass Easter egg. Why does that even hit it?

01:50:59 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 4:

You know what?

01:50:59 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 1:

Got some butt cheeks in these photos.

01:51:01 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 4:

She always got butt cheeks. I got other things. Do you see the photos? Oh, yeah.

01:51:05 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 2:

You know what would have been good, though? If Rihanna drops this and she's married. And then we also had, like, Zendaya. Because I think her and Tom Holland are already married. And then Selena Gomez, because I think her and Benny Blanco are already married. Wouldn't it be fun if, like, all of them were in this campaign? And it's like, oh, we're all already married?

01:51:25 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Come on. Yeah. Police, this, I saw these photos in video and it's, I can't unsee it. Police released the body cam video from the Gene Hackman death case. And it is really, really bad. Officers are seen searching his New Mexico home before ultimately finding his and his wife's mummified bodies with one of their dogs laying next to his wife, Betsy, guarding her.

01:51:52 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 3:

her sleeping because there's blood on the pillow. You guys, they were like quarters. I mean, it was disgusting. Newly released body camera video shows the moment law enforcement arrived at the home of actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa in February for a welfare check to find the couple and one of their dogs deceased. He's down. He's been down for a while. He told you

01:52:18 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm not going to be on that part of my role. Gene Hackman. That's what you got there. Gene? Gene Hackman? The actor.

01:52:26 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 3:

First responders didn't know how the couple had died. Their surviving German Shepherd seen here guarding Arakawa's body. It was later revealed Arakawa had died of Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, which can be transmitted to people who inhale virus-contaminated dust from rodent droppings. Hantavirus causes flu-like symptoms and can lead to trouble breathing and fluid in the lungs documents now released by investigators show rodent activity and rodent nests were found scattered across the property although not in the main house crime scene photos also reveal arakawa had purchased products to help with respiratory issues and had canceled an appointment

01:53:04 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

because of flu-like symptoms i mean it's just and by the way these are two very very private people and remember i told you the story about how they were not going to obviously release photos of their bodies or anything, but the family was really fighting for these videos to not be released, these photos and videos not to be released. But, I mean, they're out there. After Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez, Gayle King, and three other women blasted into space on Monday, Blue Origin alleged that they had officially become astronauts. And as you can imagine, the internet had some very strong opinions about this. Well, according to rules issued by the Federal Aviation Administration, the FAA, they aren't really astronauts at all. And here's why. The New Shepard spacecraft that they were on was designed to be autonomous, meaning nobody on board controlled any aspects of the flight. This makes the women ineligible for official astronaut status. So instead, they have technically been officially classified as space travelers, as would be the case for anybody who goes up on any of these Blue Origin flights.

01:54:09 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 2:

That is so disrespectful to actual astronauts to consider yourself an astronaut. That's like going on a roller coaster and saying, I engineered and designed a roller coaster because I rode Tots World Dragster.

01:54:20 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 4:

As an Amazon Prime member that was promised my package on Tuesday, Jeff, bald man, Bezos. I'm a little upset that I still haven't gotten. I ordered, by the way, I ordered, well, I won't tell you what it was, but it was body cream. And I ordered it. It said it was supposed to be here on Tuesday. did not come. Why is it my Amazon Prime doesn't work like it used to or I got it the next day or that day?

01:54:44 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 1:

I pay a lot of money. It's funny. I feel like I'm getting mine faster.

01:54:47 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 4:

I get nothing fast anymore with Amazon. They suck. What's the definition of astronaut again? I don't know. You just said it like...

01:54:53 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, somebody on board has to be manning that vessel. Yeah. So... This was...

01:55:00 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 2:

See, that's weird to me because say seven people go on a flight, right? Out of space, so to speak. And only one person is manning it. They'll call everybody astronauts, though.

01:55:13 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

That's interesting. So it's like the same thing. I wonder if there's some sort of training. That's weird.

01:55:19 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 2:

People just want to hate on them.

01:55:21 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 1:

I still love the song, I Had Some Help. It has not gotten old for me. And if you loved the Post Malone Morgan Wallen team, They are teasing yet another collaboration. It's called I Ain't Coming Back. That is going to drop on Friday. So we will have that for you.

01:55:38 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 2:

Morgan Wallen's teaming up with everybody. I think he's the magic.

01:55:41 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 1:

Tate McCray. Now we'll tease a collab and we know it's with Morgan Wallen.

01:55:45 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Want to hit song, get together with Morgan Wallen and get ahead.

01:55:48 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, there is a British tennis star named Harriet Dart who told her opponent at a match this week, Lois Boyson, that she stunk and needed to put on some deodorant. This was caught on courtside microphones.

01:56:09 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 4:

Can you tell her to wear deodorant? To wear deodorant? She was telling officials,

01:56:16 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 1:

Please, somebody go tell her she needs to put on some deodorant.

01:56:21 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 2:

To which the Parisian said to the Brit, you need to brush your teeth. Oh, my God. That is not a part of the story. By the way, I'd start watching tennis if they insulted each other. Like, if tennis became that where they threw out insults and maybe, like, did hockey fights, it would be such a better sport. What was his name, the guy who used to break his racket all the time? Oh, John McEnroe.

01:56:44 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 1:

We need that kind of tennis. He was the guy. That kind of time. I want you to have to dodge, dip, dodge, duck, and dodge. Another racket. For all of today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast. Search Mojo in the Morning in the iHeartRadio app.

01:57:19 - 01:57:28 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, it's awesome. My ex-wife called me days ago and said, you need to win this for our daughter. I said, I need to win it for me, but my ex-wife wins out now.

01:57:28 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 2:

So I like this. So you and your ex-wife are friendly enough that you guys still call each other. That's cool. That's nice. Well, congratulations to you. You could be winning your daughter a brand new car. We're giving away a Chevy. It could be anyone on that lot, and we're going to be doing this on May the 2nd. How old's your daughter? Unbelievable. She's 20. You've got to get her a new car. What kind of car is she driving now? I don't know.

01:57:52 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 4:

She's driving a 1992 Lincoln Town Car. Oh, my God.

01:57:56 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 1:

That girl needs a new ride.

01:57:58 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 2:

1992 Lincoln Town Car is like old school, like limo or something. That's crazy. It's a few miles than my car, though. I want to see her trying to get into a parking spot nowadays. That thing don't fit in parking spots. It's hilarious. It's probably a little bit hilarious. All right, special thanks to Moran Automotive on this one. Hold on one second. We'll be right back. Coming up next, the next topic up for grabs on The Price is Right is, oh, my God, this is bad for me to say this. Put an H where the P is. Spitty balls. Spitty balls. Which one of my friends now has the nickname Spitty balls and why? We'll get to that. And then right afterwards, the five lies to tell your mom. Don't go anywhere.

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Full strength today. Shannon and Kev and Megan and Lydia, Bianca, Zach, myself. Good to have you guys here. Great to be here. It's so nice to be here. You are a little sassy today. Look at us. You give you a couple of days to rest, and you come back energized and ready to go. How am I sassy? You've been fun today. You've been a lot of fun. Been saying stuff. Because you're not normally fun. I had to dump you already today. I haven't had to dump anybody else. Yes. But speaking of sassy and assy, I was talking to my best buddy, Brad Yeager. I think Shannon's the only one that has ever met Brad. Have you met Brad? Or you talked to him on the phone probably.

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 3:

right? I feel like I met him too. Have you met him too? Maybe at somebody's graduation. Oh,

02:00:04 - 02:02:14 | Speaker 1:

no. Oh, no. You know what? No, you met him at the, what's the super cold walk at Thanksgiving that we, the turkey trot. Oh my God. That's a miserable walk. So we walked, remember the, we walked the turkey trot and it was when that was all ice on the ground and we had to like, I was very pregnant. Yes. It was brutal. All right. So, so Brad is my best buddy since first grade he's got a twin brother brian we're best buddies and there's a whole group of us that uh would hang out with each other it'd be brad brian uh tom steve uh john like all these guys okay so long story short brad and i were talking last night we were reminiscing a little bit about one of our friends steve and he he made a comment and he goes oh spitty balls and i go spitty balls and he obviously wasn't saying spitty he was saying the the word uh the s-h-i-t-t-y and he said his said his name is that and i go why do you call him that and he goes you know why i call him that and it was one of those things where i completely forgot that we were having a discussion one time about wiping your butt and i don't know how you guys wipe your butt well we were we discuss certain things as you get a couple bourbon and he always wipes his butt from the back to the front steve does wow and brad says you can't do that and i said what do you mean you can't do it you're telling him how he can wipe his butt like that's how he wipes his butt we're all taught how to wipe our butt and he says you can't do that because anytime that you do that you now have just put fecal matter on your balls so he's like when i was learning how to wipe you know my butt he said my dad and mom would always tell us that you wipe from the front to the back you wipe it pushing back and um wait say that again so you so you go from the front to the back so basically you're you're going to the back of the butt yeah okay sorry i'm thinking about female parts and i

02:02:14 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 3:

was like yes it depends on which what you're wiping for yes okay so so he was it dies so you

02:02:22 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 1:

so he is he forever has been known to brad as as spitty balls because he's convinced that there is no way that he ain't wiping his butt and getting some of the remnants of his duty on his private apartment. Make a

02:02:38 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 2:

duty. I'm going to be honest with you. Yes. I heard a lady say it a long time ago, and I abide by the rule 99% of the time. She said, you take your trash through the back door, not the front door. But I live in an apartment. And I only have one door. So I'm not going to sit up here and try to portray this ultimate poise like I've never done it, but I will say if I have, I'm coming dude wipe every time just for the boss to make sure that they clean.

02:03:05 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, dude wipes, by the way, ain't no joke. How do you wipe that way, though?

02:03:09 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 2:

You just reach down straight through and just try to get it. You reach through to wipe? I said 99% of the time I go through the back door, but it'd be sometimes I'd be on FaceTime or whatever.

02:03:21 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 1:

Because I tell you something, you're going to be mad at me for saying this. But since my shoulder back injury thing that I have, I'm having to use my right hand instead of my left hand. I am normally left-handed wiping.

02:03:36 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Why? But you're not left-handed.

02:03:38 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 1:

I know. I guess I'm stronger with my left hand.

02:03:41 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 3:

This is very complexing to me. I don't think I've ever wiped myself with my left hand.

02:03:44 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't like that. I have to.

02:03:45 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 2:

Does it make you feel like it's a different person wiping you?

02:03:47 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:03:49 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't like that. How do you have control? I can't do anything with my left hand. Really? It wouldn't be clean.

02:03:53 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, what do you do in the case of me where I have, like, the shoulder injury where I feel like I can't do anything with my shoulder? He had the dextries.

02:04:01 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I know you have a bidet. I know you have a bidet.

02:04:04 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

I do have a bidet. I do have – we have a – it's called a washlet. We put it on top of our toilet. It's a little thing that wipes your – or it waters – it's like a water fountain.

02:04:13 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 2:

See, now, this is what I would get a robot for.

02:04:16 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 1:

To do your booty? Why not? I'm going to say this to you.

02:04:18 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't get too strong.

02:04:19 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 1:

If I don't, if I'm, so if we go away, like Chelsea and I go away somewhere, if we go to a hotel and because we have this at home, I don't like going to the bathroom when I'm away because I don't feel clean unless I have the washlet. You sprayed it. It's the best.

02:04:34 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 3:

You need to take a peri bottle with you.

02:04:36 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's, what is that? Is that like a, like a douche for my booty?

02:04:40 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Booty douche. Got like the little straw. It's not a straw. Don't suck out of it. It's a, yeah. Wait a second Because after you push out a baby Things are not normal down there You can't wipe Does Yeti

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 4:

What's the, what's the, what's the cups? Stanley.

02:05:02 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 3:

A Stanley? Does Stanley make these? A Stanley sprayer. Okay, girls, do you always wipe the way that you're supposed to wipe? Because I'll be honest, I don't. No, you, wait, I don't, I, okay, because you're supposed, for the front, for the front, you're supposed to wipe like this.

02:05:16 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 1:

Never. What are you doing? Never.

02:05:18 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 3:

I know. Never. I know. Because I don't feel like it's clean. It just doesn't, it's same. No, you got, okay, because they tell you to wipe like that, I'm like, that does not, I can't. I got a question. Wait, for girls. since we're here. Are you right how you're supposed to? How they tell you to?

02:05:32 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't do front to back respectfully. Yeah. But to be clear, front to back is very important for girls, but it's really middle to front, middle to back.

02:05:40 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. You know what I mean? That's why you can't eat everybody's cookies.

02:05:45 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Whatever way I've been doing some work in, so I'm fine.

02:05:48 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Terry. You there, Terry?

02:05:50 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Terry?

02:05:52 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 1:

So my rule is, and I hope I can say this word, taint back, taint front. That's what I just said. Yeah, middle, yeah.

02:06:01 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 4:

So, yes. Yeah.

02:06:03 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 1:

Because then you're not cross-contaminating. You're not doing any of that.

02:06:07 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 4:

Terry, you sound like a very professional woman. Just to hear you say that might be the greatest thing ever. What do you do for a living, Terry?

02:06:15 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 1:

I learned something today. I own a salon. I'm a hairdresser.

02:06:19 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're a hairdresser. Plug it. Plug your salon so everybody can know who you are.

02:06:24 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 1:

Kateri Johnson Salon.

02:06:26 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

Where's that located at?

02:06:28 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 1:

Wyoming, Michigan.

02:06:29 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic. Thanks for listening. We appreciate you. We'll come see you sometime. George, what's up, George? Yes, Tains of Wyoming. Hey, I was just saying, listen, you guys talk about how to wipe. And honestly, I use a bidet, and I don't think I can go back to just using wipes. I'm telling you, isn't it? It's a godsend, right?

02:06:51 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask you a question, though, with bidets?

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

It is the best thing.

02:06:54 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

The thing I don't understand is, is it, is the pressure on them? I don't know that I've ever used a bidet because to me it just feels like you're spraying water in that area. And then what good is that doing?

02:07:06 - 02:07:10 | Speaker 4:

It's like a good car wash, like a Jack's car wash, not like one of those dollar car washes.

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 3:

The pressure is strong.

02:07:11 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 4:

So the pressure of it, the pressure of it will clean. But then you have to go back, you have to go back with toilet paper right afterwards just to either dry yourself off. But it makes everything a ghost poop afterwards when it totally cleans. Yeah. Yeah. It's very nice. It definitely feels a lot better afterwards. Exactly. You know what you are with the toilet paper at the end? You're the guy at the end of the car wash with the towels drying you off. I realize that every single time that I use mine. I'm telling you.

02:07:43 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 3:

I went to Jack's yesterday. There was nobody there with the towels.

02:07:45 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 4:

I had a friend of mine that came over to my house just to use my toilet to see if he would want one in his house. I said, you could test drive it anytime you want to. Because I only have it in our bathroom. So that's just an attachment.

02:07:57 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 3:

That's not like the toilet you buy.

02:07:58 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it sits on top of the thing. If I was going to put new toilets in a house, I would put new toilets in and make them bidets. They're not even that expensive, the attachments. I was like, you get one for $30. It wasn't bad. What's up, Mike? Hi. I don't know if it's going to work. Kevin, I have a question for you. What's up? Who are you talking to when you're doing number two on FaceTime?

02:08:18 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, somebody, for asking.

02:08:19 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yesterday I was talking to my dog's ear.

02:08:23 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 3:

I had to ask that question.

02:08:25 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

No, no, that is a very good question. I cannot be the only one that do-do and still be FaceTiming people. No, you are the only one. Mike, thank you for calling him out on that. I feel like it's uncomfortable just to even be on the phone,

02:08:37 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 3:

let it go FaceTime.

02:08:39 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 4:

I'll be in there for hours. By the way, if Kevin FaceTimes me, I'm not picking up. What's up, Shelly? Hi.

02:08:45 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, everybody. Looking forward to seeing you on May 16th. You got your tickets to the sold out.

02:08:51 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yeah, I did. I did.

02:08:52 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm sure enough did. I'm coming with a check for you, too.

02:08:55 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Our podcast live that we're doing at the Imagine Theater Royal Oak. We'll see you there. What's going on, Chell?

02:09:01 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, you got to wipe front to back, okay? Because hoo-hoo germs in your booty is okay, but booty germs in your hoo-hoo is not okay.

02:09:09 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 3:

I understand that. It just does not feel natural to me. I think my mom probably taught me that when I was little, and I didn't listen and you know fast forward a couple decades I'm still doing it well I also

02:09:20 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 2:

broke my right hand last year and I had to wipe left-handed that is a very difficult thing to do

02:09:25 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

I almost leaned too far and fell off the toilet a couple times it is so uncomfortable I'm telling you Shelly I hope I'm I'm back to normal shape at that moment because I do not want to have to go to the bathroom I love you thank you hey we're paying bills coming up here next WKQI Detroit WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. 02:10:16 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 5:

I am a nurse.

02:10:17 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and we're going to do five lies on your mom here. Your mom pretty proud of you?

02:10:23 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I would say so. I mean, growing up, I was a troublemaker.

02:10:27 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 2:

herself. Does she talk about you all the time to her friends? Like, look at Olivia. She turned her life around. Definitely. Guess what? We're going to turn your life to the other side again. We're going to do five lies. Tell your mom. We're going to make your mom believe that you have gotten bad again. We came up with these. So you got to just follow along when you're listening to her. If you get through all five, you'll win your mom a prize. Okay. Lie number one, You're going to say, Mom, I just got my nursing license revoked. Lie number two.

02:10:59 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 4:

Say, I had a very hot patient.

02:11:01 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh. Lie number three. He was getting extra flirty with me. Lie number four.

02:11:09 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 1:

Somehow, I ended up in the guy's bed, and I started touching him.

02:11:15 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 2:

Lie number five. Another nurse walked in on us, and I got caught. Okay. We're calling your mom up for Five Lies to Tell Your Mom. Let's see what mom's reaction is to this, okay?

02:11:29 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Make it believable.

02:11:42 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 7:

Hello?

02:11:44 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Mom?

02:11:46 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Olivia? Yeah. Uh, wait, wait a minute. let me look at this this isn't even your phone number whose number you have to call or who's

02:11:59 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 5:

02:12:22 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 4:

You made me spit my drink out. What? Oh, my God.

02:12:33 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 5:

I got caught. I got, can you not cry? So I had this really hot patient. I mean, he was hot. And he kept flirting with me. Um, and I don't know, one thing led to another, and next thing I know, I'm on the patient bed, touching him, giving him mouth to mouth.

02:13:08 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 6:

Son of a sunflower! Are you joking? You're joking. You gotta be joking me.

02:13:14 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 5:

No, my coworker walked in and caught us.

02:13:16 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 7:

02:19:07 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 1:

So did I, so I was waiting for you to introduce him.

02:19:10 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 5:

No, you went to the dentist. You almost puked on the dentist.

02:19:12 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, yesterday. Oh, my God, yes. I was at the dentist. Do you ever go and they put, like, a piece of cotton in your mouth to keep your lip out of the way? Yeah. So they did that, and I've been going to the same dentist for a very long time. I have the same dental hygienist for years and years and years. I forgot it was in my mouth. I went to close my mouth. i felt this cotton hit a portion of my tongue that i was not anticipating and i immediately gagged right her hands in my mouth her hands are in my mouth and i went and she was like are you okay we both started dying laughing and i said i forgot about the continent it really freaked me out it really really did she goes oh you know what we get bit we get puked on it wouldn't

02:20:00 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 4:

be the first time and i went you could not pay me money to work a job where potentially while your hands are in somebody's mouth they could puke on you and i never thought about dental hygienists getting puked on before but it freaked me out oh yeah i bet you that that's got to be a

02:20:17 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 3:

tough job huh dental hygienist i bet you the worst than getting puked on by these guys bit how many of these dental hygienists do you think have had somebody bite their fingers i mean just what about

02:20:28 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 2:

the bad breath yeah oh yeah last time i was at the dentist i asked more thought it just popped into my head for some reason maybe because his breath was thinking so i mean that could have

02:20:36 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 3:

been wait you're at a bad day you can't go to it was somebody else it was another dude but you cannot the dentist cannot have bad breath because they standing over you like you know what i mean that's all in your face if you're if you're a dentist and you have bad breath you have just it's like for instance you can't i i will not go to a fat doctor uh i i will not go to a hairstylist that is bald i'm sorry i gotta they gotta have hair i want to know what they do with

02:21:04 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 2:

their hair you got to be fat if you to cook at the cookout yes and yeah and i'll just be honest

02:21:09 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

i'll go to a fat chef chefs need to be fat you can't be a skinny must be really bad at what he

02:21:14 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

does no it's not good i just wouldn't pick him as my first draft pick i pick uh guy fieri he got a

02:21:21 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 4:

little meat on you gotta have it you gotta that is that is i want a chef that is wild i want a

02:21:27 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 3:

He's a chef with fat body, fat fingers, because I know he's cutting like a maniac.

02:21:32 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 4:

Is Guy Fieri even a chef, or was he a television host? I don't know. Yeah. I don't even think he's a chef.

02:21:37 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 3:

Or Imru. And how do you get Fieri out of that spelling of that name? It should be Fieri, isn't it, or something?

02:21:42 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 4:

I think it is, actually. There's no T's in his name. It's Yeti.

02:21:45 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It's two R's, and they're like Ferrari. Is it?

02:21:48 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 4:

Isn't there just one R? I don't think Americans pronounce Ferrari right, though.

02:21:51 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 3:

All right. Let's get back to the whole thing about puking. Puking. What kind of occupation is it where you can get puked on like that? Could you imagine being a kindergarten teacher? Do you know how brutal that must be? I look at these kindergarten or daycare.

02:22:07 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 5:

Just an elementary school teacher in general. I mean, my child had the projectile vomiting two weeks ago and I felt so bad.

02:22:16 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 3:

I went to lunch the other day and I was eating at the deli that's by my house. And there's always, I always feel like that deli always has an old person with like a nurse or something taking them out to eat. Like there's always like this old, really old person coming in and there's like a really nice caretaker type person that's taking care of them that's going to lunch with them. And I'm looking at this poor lady that is taking care of this old guy and I'm thinking this guy is definitely crapping on this woman. You know what I mean?

02:22:48 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 5:

Those are angels. Those are special people.

02:22:50 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 3:

You are, and especially when you see that they like them, you know what I mean? Like they treat them like they're a family and stuff like that.

02:22:55 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:22:56 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 2:

Bro, home takers that got to wipe up doo-doo?

02:22:58 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's terrible, but I think I know a worse job.

02:23:01 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 2:

What?

02:23:02 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 4:

Who in this room has had a colonoscopy before?

02:23:05 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 2:

Not me. I have not.

02:23:06 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 4:

They won't let you leave until you fart, and they put somebody in the room until you fart. So there is a hospital worker that has to sit in a room until people fart. I have to get an enemy in the emergency room.

02:23:17 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 5:

That can't be a fun job. And the guy, the nurse that did it, was so cute. Prostate exam, like I was talking about earlier.

02:23:25 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

02:23:26 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no.

02:23:28 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to know the greatest phone call or the greatest lunch I had like a week or so ago? I had it with one of the clients. Had it with Mike over at Gordon Chevrolet. And we were discussing our summer car giveaway that we're doing at Gordon Chevrolet like we always do. And he's like, I think we're going to do the giveaway again in the actual dealership. because I thought it went way better than doing it outside and having you guys be out in weather that could be bad or whatever the deal is. And he said, except for when the poop happened. Do you remember that?

02:23:58 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Yes. I forgot about that.

02:24:01 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 5:

What happened? His diaper came off or it went out all sides of his diaper? It was a kid, wasn't it? I think it was an explosion. I think it was an explosion, too. Yeah. I do remember that.

02:24:10 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 3:

But the funniest was Angel lost her smell during COVID. she can't smell anything and so angel thought it was like somebody spilled chocolate oh my gosh like cleaning it up off the ground uh what's up candy how are you it's mojo in the morning hi candy candy candy goodbye candy hi lauren how are you it's mojo in the morning

02:24:38 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

good morning guys good morning what's going on um not much so i have i work on patients all day long and i can even count on five on my one hand of really really really bad smelling smelling bad breath smelling patients and we have to like add another mask and gloves

02:25:00 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 5:

Well, it will have like gum and everything.

02:25:02 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 9:

What kind of work do you guys do there? Is it a dentist's office or is it just a doctor's office?

02:25:06 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, I clean teeth too. Oh, you do?

02:25:08 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 9:

Wait, so you're cleaning. Is it possible for you to even get rid of that smell or are their teeth so bad that you can't do it?

02:25:16 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 5:

It's possible, but I have to take like extra precautions to get rid of it.

02:25:21 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 9:

Really? And have you ever been puked on by a patient? Has a patient ever gotten gag reflex?

02:25:27 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yes, and it's usually when you're doing x-rays or, like Megan said, cotton, and you have to literally run and grab the trash can underneath the sink and set the patient up really fast, and there's, like, a whole thing, and I've been puked on.

02:25:41 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 2:

I don't mind going to the dentist. I actually like going to the dentist, except for when they tell me it's time to get x-rays. I cannot handle those things.

02:25:49 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 1:

They hit the back of your mouth. And I have to have special ones because I have torii, like, the worst you've ever seen. And it's so bad. I hate that. I hate that.

02:25:58 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 9:

Do you clean up the puke with that little suction thing that you put in her mouth? Karina, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:26:08 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Good morning. How are you guys? Good morning. Good.

02:26:11 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 9:

What's going on?

02:26:13 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 6:

So, yeah, I am a biter, unfortunately, for my dentist I'm actually going to go see today. So I hope they're prepared for that. And when I get my blood drawn, I'm also a biter because I absolutely hate needles. At the dentist, when they go to put that cotton in my mouth, I always bite down on their finger. And I bite down super hard and I feel bad because she's like, can you let my finger go? And it always happens.

02:26:40 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:26:41 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 6:

I would kick you out of my practice. No, literally, the crazy part is I have tattoos. I've sat through 12-hour tattoo sessions, no problem. but I can't get my blood draw or get my teeth cleaned without biting because I'm terrified. I hate it.

02:26:56 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 9:

Wow. Man, that's the worst, too, when you bite down at the time and you're on the rubber glove that's in your mouth. What's going on, Leah?

02:27:05 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning, guys.

02:27:06 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 9:

Good morning. What's happening?

02:27:08 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 7:

All right. So I work for a retinal specialist, the back of the eye, and we have to inject a dye sometimes to do some testing, to take some pictures. I had a 16-year-old boy, I got the needle in, he passed out, and when he passed out, he peed all over me. Oh, my God. Poor kid.

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 9:

Oh, no.

02:27:32 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 7:

That's a first for me.

02:27:34 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God, that's horrible. By the way, you just made Shannon have to take her headphones off. She could not listen to this thing.

02:27:42 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 7:

I can't do eye stuff. I'm sorry. No eye stuff for Shannon. I have to do five of those today, so hopefully no pee. I heard Neil and I, and I was done.

02:27:52 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 9:

Do you guys have a hard time with the poof test that they do?

02:27:55 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 8:

Yes! What is that?

02:27:57 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 9:

It's they're checking glaucoma.

02:27:58 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 8:

No, no, no. Like, I know, but, like, why is that so uncomfortable?

02:28:01 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 9:

I think it's the old idea that it's going to happen. Like, you're waiting for it to happen.

02:28:04 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 8:

Because, like, if I'm riding on an ATV or a roller coaster, I don't go, wow, this wind on my eyes is very uncomfortable. But that poof test.

02:28:11 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 9:

Oh, I can get you. What's up, Shay?

02:28:15 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you guys?

02:28:17 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 9:

We're good. What's going on?

02:28:19 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 4:

Okay. So this is for Megan and the whole fart thing and the colonoscopy. I get them yearly because I'm a cancer patient or a mission and I'm an emic, blah, blah, blah. Anyways, yeah, never had that happen. So they either wanted to smell her farts or they wanted to smoke her farts. Oh, yeah, yeah. No.

02:28:36 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, they don't usually have somebody sit in there. They make you wait there. They want you to wait there until you get all the gas and stuff out of you. Right? Don't they?

02:28:43 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 8:

I was under 18. Maybe that was part of it because I was in the pediatric unit. But if you don't pass gas, they'd think that something's even more wrong.

02:28:53 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

02:28:54 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, they never ask me. Like, maybe they just don't care if I explode. I don't know. I've had multiple colonoscopies and endoscopies, and they've never let me leave without hearing me fart.

02:29:05 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 9:

Those poor people, though, like, that would be, like, the worst job ever. And honestly, I don't even want to be awake at them. I'm like, just put me to sleep right now because I do not want your first reaction of seeing my butthole. What's up, Tish?

02:29:19 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. I have a gross honey poop story.

02:29:24 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 9:

Oh, great. By the way, probably the topics that we've chose for today are kind of a little disgusting. Between this and spitty balls, maybe a little too close together. But go ahead. What's going on?

02:29:35 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 3:

so i work in a daycare and uh one time uh one of the kids had a blowout where the poop goes up the back and down the bottom yeah and this child went down a slide outside and we didn't notice so every kid so every kid that went down the slide after got covered Oh my gosh, that's horrible. that's bad

02:30:02 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you I think the daycare workers have a way worse job than anybody in a medical field because you're dealing with all that that's horrible

02:30:13 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 1:

02:30:41 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending right now. The Mojo in the Morning show, Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

02:30:48 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 3:

Hillary Duff's husband, his name is Matthew Coma, came to her defense yesterday on social media. I love this. Hillary Duff's husband. Hillary Duff's husband. Yeah. Some internet troll made a comment on her most recent Instagram post. It's a carousel of beautiful like photos of her. And the comment was, why did she do Botox? I swear to God, everybody else is the same. So her husband clapped back at this person. Get effed, butterfly, referring to the person's profile username, which had butterfly in it. And that was all he needed to say. Just don't talk about my wife that way. She, by the way, has been very open about everything that she's had done. Obviously, Botox included in that and has always told women, no shame, if that's something that you want to do.

02:31:33 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 2:

I haven't seen Hilary Duff in a while, though. She is gorgeous. She's gorgeous.

02:31:36 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Top tier, Milt. Yes. I did this story for you because I know you love her every time we see her Instagram. She got it on me.

02:31:42 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 2:

We talked about Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff this morning in the Dirties, which is interesting because they were both the same era. And weren't they competitive?

02:31:49 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Disney Channel versus Nickelodeon, maybe. Yeah, I think so.

02:31:53 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 2:

Hilary Duff clears.

02:31:54 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 3:

Home Alone director Chris Columbus said in an interview this week with the San Francisco Chronicle that he wishes he could get rid of Donald Trump's cameo in Home Alone 2, Lost in New York.

02:32:06 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 1:

Excuse me, where's the lobby? Down the hall and to the left. Thanks.

02:32:11 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 3:

He said that cameo has become quite a curse to him and he added on a sarcastic note, I can't cut it out because if I cut it out, I'll probably be booted out of the country. I'll be considered sort of not fit to live in the United States and will have to go back to Italy or something. But for whatever reason, he wishes that that wasn't in the movie anymore. Country singer Thomas Rhett ended up in a wheelchair after his surprise appearance at Forrest Frank's show in Nashville this week. Shout out to Forrest Frank, by the way, I love him. But they did their song, Nothing Else, together. And in the middle of it, Thomas Rhett fell down. Actually, he fell up the stairs kind of trying to get back to the stage after singing in the audience sprained his ankle so bad i think he broke his ankle actually but is

02:32:56 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 1:

now in a wheelchair because of it every now and then you just have to sing in a forrest frank concert and break your ankle in the process that gave them all for tennessee you did somebody did

02:33:07 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 2:

this week i love him who is this forrest frank and thomas rett forrest frank and thomas forrest

02:33:19 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 3:

frank really super popular christian artist and he's collabing with a bunch of like oh his music's so good i just i truly love thomas redd how do we rank thomas redd is

02:33:31 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 2:

because there's some country artists i sit there and i look at and i go like who's more popular thomas redd or uh what's the guy that's on the uh the voice why am i brain farting uh country like no blake sheldon blake sheldon like who's more popular Like, rank the country artists as far as popularity is concerned. Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Morgan Wallen.

02:33:57 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 4:

I would, well, now you're talking about, like, who's popular today or who's got the better, like, longer career. Like, who's more iconic? Because Morgan Wallen's huge right now, but I would say if we're ranking, like, overall, Personally, I would go Luke Bryan, then Blake Shelton, but people would probably argue that. And then probably Morgan Wallen and Thomas Rhett. But Thomas Rhett's had more bigger songs and a longer career than Morgan Wallen. But Morgan Wallen is like Lady Gaga right now when she had three songs out.

02:34:26 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 3:

We talked about him earlier. He's doing another collab with Post Malone and a collab with Tate McRae.

02:34:30 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 2:

So he's huge. Who's more popular, Thomas Rhett or the guy that did the remake of Fast Cars?

02:34:36 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Thomas Rhett.

02:34:37 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 2:

Than Luke Combs? Luke Combs, yes. Really?

02:34:39 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 4:

He's way bigger, I think, than Thomas Rhett.

02:34:42 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Luke Combs is way bigger than Thomas Rhett?

02:34:44 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:34:44 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 2:

Really? I feel like I've heard his name. I don't know if I've heard Thomas Rhett. Really? Thomas Rhett. That's right.

02:34:50 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 4:

I think that's a good bar, though, in terms of popularity. But he also had a crossover song where Thomas Rhett really hasn't. Because Sam Hunt, I think we could all talk about as an artist because he...

02:35:00 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 1:

had that, that, your body like a bad cross. Yeah. Whatever song, but I wouldn't call him a huge country star. I'd say it's pretty big.

02:35:10 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Somebody, uh, somebody call Bobby Bones and see if Bobby Bones will take our call. I got a lot of questions. We can ask Mike. Mike should know. Yeah. You think Mike knows this stuff now? Call him and ask him. The problem is, I feel like if I put Mike on the spot, it'd be like, you know, you asking me a question about hockey. Like, I, you know, I'm not a big hockey fan, so I don't know a lot of

02:35:29 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 1:

hockey stuff i can't talk hockey and i want to end on two michigan stories two stories local to michigan the first one an idiot from muskegon is now going to spend decades behind bars for his part in a drug trafficking operation where he used the united states postal service to deliver drugs across the country sreka walker was sentenced to 32 years in federal prison they don't know how much cocaine he and his buddies sent through the mail hell yeah but they did sees more than five kilos of as mojo calls it the booger sugar okay that's right and then this is such a sweet story i did it earlier it's worth doing again chelsea michigan when the beloved local bookstore in chelsea serendipity books announced it was moving to a larger space in town the shop's owner was faced with the challenge of moving almost 10 000 books and hundreds of boxes without having to close or shop and lose money for a couple of days that's when more than 300 people from the Chelsea community stepped in. They formed a human chain from the old bookstore to the new bookstore and just passed all of those books down the line and they got the job done.

02:36:41 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 2:

I love that. Take one down, pass it around. That's awesome. What a great thing. That's a great

02:36:50 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 1:

story. Hey, for all of today's dirty catch up on the podcast, search Mojo in the morning in the free iHeartRadio

So which kind of car are you hoping? Which Chevy are you hoping has that fob in it?

02:37:29 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to lie.

02:37:31 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 2:

I'd rather have the money, but maybe a Silverado. You know what, though? You could actually do that. So choose the $25,000, and it could be yours. Yeah. Congratulations to you, man. Have a great time. Thank you. Enjoy. We'll see you on May the 2nd. Awesome. Thank you. Don't go anywhere. where we're back with more Mojo in the Morning coming up here in just moments. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back. I already said that. We'll be right back. I was looking for the button to push. There you go, right there.

02:38:04 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 1:

Dead air. Shout out to all the kids who could never find their name on a souvenir keychain or license plate. What's your name? Thaddeus. Good luck with that one, sport. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:38:16 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. Mojo in the Morning show. Sorry about that.

02:38:18 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 1:

How dare you make me laugh until I coughed like that.

02:38:20 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 2:

We ate a little food during a break. So if you watch, are we still live, by the way, on the Facebook and stuff? Because if you did, you just witnessed unhealthy eating habits.

02:38:32 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 1:

They're not seeing you much right now.

02:38:34 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 2:

They can't see that? Oh, my God.

02:38:35 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 1:

Did we start it back up?

02:38:36 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

No, don't. All right.

02:38:38 - 02:38:38 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:38:38 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:38:38 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 1:

We should do a mukbang.

02:38:40 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:38:41 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 1:

I love mukbangs.

02:38:43 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not a good thing. What kind of bang do you want to do? You do not want to see us eating because we wolfed it down and we're just like going crazy. I ate my entire omelet during that break. This feels good. All right.

02:39:00 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 1:

That's because you're well. I'm sick.

02:39:03 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Are you still alive? I think I am. It's making me higher, I feel like. My bottle's all right.

02:39:08 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 1:

Your eyes were open and now they're closing again.

02:39:10 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Kevin just got back from his Denver trip. He went to Denver to do some crazy stuff, including smoke for the first time in how many years? It's been a very long time, bro. I couldn't even tell you how long it was been. Can I discuss this something real quick without being judged for a second? Because I would like to say this. Kevin told me during the break, or actually one of the breaks here, that all he wanted to do was see mountains. Okay? That was his thing. I want to just go and see mountains. And he says, and Denver's the place, and so me and my boys are all going to go out there. And I said, oh, really? I said, well, tell me some of the stuff that you did. Obviously, he went and saw Red Rocks. He told us about that. Yeah, beautiful. Jealous. He also went to Denver to go watch a movie. He saw a movie.

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 3:

a movie theater the guy was there wrong with that you were there when did you get there i got there

02:40:04 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 2:

saturday and i came back yesterday so he got there on saturday at what time did you get there on saturday i think 1 p.m near time i think so why be a little early 1 p.m on saturday you came back what yesterday in the afternoon so you flew out in the morning yesterday yeah so basically you had no day on tuesday yesterday was tuesday if you're listening to this podcast at a different time or Are you listening to this at a different time? So yesterday was Tuesday.

02:40:27 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:40:27 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 2:

So he was there basically 1 o'clock, had most of the day on Saturday. He had the whole day on Sunday, and he had the day on Monday. That was it. One of his days, he went to Red Rocks. The other day, he went to a movie theater to go see a movie, something that he does all the time. Was it raining?

02:40:44 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 3:

It's not the same. So first off, the timing was 940 on Monday night before I had to fly out Tuesday morning. Now, the interesting thing about this movie theater is that it was a 4DX, which we don't have any in the state of Michigan. We shouldn't. Get out of here. The only 4D movie theaters that are around are in a science center or Legoland, and they have specific films that they show. Now, for those who don't know, so 3D, you know, you put your 3D glasses on, the images may appear closer to what they are. 4D, the seats not only move, the seats also have mechanisms within it that'll, like, hit you in your back. The water will show. Smoke will arrive. Dust may come out. There could be fire somewhere in the theater that creates heat, so it immerses you in the experience. It doesn't do all that stuff. We saw Warfare. He's on Minecraft, yeah.

02:41:43 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 2:

See, somebody has not been there. Chicken jockey. Chicken jockey. A piece of chicken hits you in the head. But it's from the kid in row five. What's wrong with that? You can't go to another city to go to a movie. Well, if they have something that we don't have. Listen.

02:41:57 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 1:

I thought we did have it.

02:41:58 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 2:

You don't want to.

02:41:59 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 4:

You do that, by the way. Google it. You, me. I'm pretty sure there's one actually. When we were in Atlanta, we went to see a movie.

02:42:06 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 2:

I went and saw a movie. That was not a trip where I was going on vacation. I was on a work trip.

02:42:10 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 4:

But you just said you can't go to another city and see a movie.

02:42:13 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 2:

You can't go to a movie. By the way, don't ruin my topic for me.

02:42:19 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 4:

You were like, oh crap, I forgot about that. Technically, you didn't see the movie because you slept the whole time.

02:42:26 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 3:

I think the closest one is in Chicago.

02:42:28 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 2:

Like when I hear people that go, they're like, I'm going to go to, you know, blah, blah, blah. I'm going to, oh, here you go. I'm going to go to New York City and you'll say oh man that's amazing what did you do in New York City I went to the Toys R Us you know you went to New York City you could go to Broadway you could go to you know Times Square you went to Toys R Us this is my mother

02:42:55 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 4:

this is my mother we don't travel a ton with her anymore but whenever we go to somewhere anywhere any city she has to go to the Cheesecake Factory Mom, it's the damn same in Novi as it is in Chicago, as it is in Washington, D.C., as it is in L.A. It's the, like, go to a restaurant that's, you can only go to there, right?

02:43:21 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 2:

The people that I hear that will go to another city and not try their food or their, you know, like, did you go when you went to Denver, Colorado? Did you eat cherry cricket burgers at all at the cherry cricket?

02:43:35 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 3:

I got my favorite. They're the greatest. Y'all ain't telling me about that.

02:43:38 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 2:

You got to go to Cherry Cricket Burger.

02:43:40 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 3:

I have a show. I went to some burger place. Oh, my God. Where'd you go?

02:43:43 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

It was delicious. You went to In-N-Out Burger, probably, because they have them out there. You A-face.

02:43:49 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't even. I could take the receipt of mine. It ain't that dope. I went to White Castle.

02:43:54 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 2:

Listen, the burger was outstanding. It tastes different. Ashley Nix, when she comes back to Detroit, she goes right to White Castle. I'm like, why are you going to White Castle? She goes, we don't have it down in Florida.

02:44:03 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 1:

See? I mean, I get it.

02:44:04 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Jameika, what's going on?

02:44:07 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 1:

Hey, first time, long time. Hey there, Jameika. So, yeah, I actually texted in and got the phone call back. But, yeah, I just recently came from Branson, Missouri. I went to go see David the stage play at the Sykes Sound Theater, and it was amazing. So I understand that he went there, you know, for a movie.

02:44:28 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 2:

Smart woman. But you went to Branson, Missouri. Isn't that where they have, like, a lot of, like, old-time celebrities that used to do things that go up on stage and do stuff?

02:44:38 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like Dolly Parton. Like, they are really big on Dolly Parton.

02:44:42 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Branson, Missouri. You know anything about Branson, Missouri, Kev? Hell no. So Branson, Missouri. I don't know which for Branson. Branson, Missouri are a bunch of, like, it's almost like a Midwest version of Vegas or something like that. But it's, like, old Vegas. And they have, like, these old-time celebrities that do, like. Concerts and things like that. You can see, you know, like Wayne Newton or something like that. Oh, sign me up.

02:45:06 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they are really good for tribute, though.

02:45:08 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 2:

But you don't go to Branson, Missouri to go see a movie that's in a movie theater.

02:45:12 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 3:

We don't have 4DX in Michigan.

02:45:16 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 2:

Angel, what's up?

02:45:16 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 3:

What don't you get?

02:45:17 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 2:

Angel, what's going on?

02:45:19 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys.

02:45:20 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's happening?

02:45:21 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 1:

I can't do it here. So every time me and my boyfriend go on vacation, whether it be Florida, about to go on a cruise, Florida visiting the family or even in Colorado we have to go see a movie when it comes out that weekend

02:45:35 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 2:

so you go see movies anywhere so anywhere you go see so if you went to Los Angeles you're in the capital of Hollywood you would go out there and just go to see a movie at a plain old AMC movie theater

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 1:

I always say we shouldn't be doing this while on vacation but

02:45:57 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 2:

Like, you know, like I could see if you go to man's Chinese theater or something like that, you know, where the walk of fame and stuff is. But I don't know. Going to see a movie and 4KX, whatever the heck it is.

02:46:11 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 3:

What are you talking about? You man, what's up? You're a big golfer. Yeah.

02:46:17 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 2:

Every place you travel, you go to a golf course because I go like if I go to Pinehurst, that's what it's known for. It's known for golf.

02:46:25 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 3:

We don't have 4DX theaters in Michigan, so I'm doing something that I cannot do at home.

02:46:31 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 2:

You right now are being very racist, making fun of my accents. I hearst.

02:46:36 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 3:

That's the Cuban coming out.

02:46:38 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 2:

I hearst. What's going on, Jason? How you doing?

02:46:43 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, you go to Vegas and shop for Skechers. You did? I forgot about the Skechers.

02:46:51 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 5:

I forgot about it. Here.

02:46:52 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 2:

oh my god why do you listen to this show for as long as you have we've never had a caller

02:46:59 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 5:

in the words of intern billy that was the Hoot-a-grah! Hoot-a-grah!

02:47:10 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 4:

Done.

02:47:11 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 5:

Hoot-a-grah!

02:47:11 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 4:

W-K-Q-I, Detroit. W-S-N-X, Mesquite, and Grand Rapids. W-V-K-S, Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Oh, my God.

02:47:26 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 2:

Everybody say woo. Woo! Oh, my God. You guys missed Billy. Billy was the greatest. Hoot-a-grah! So great. All right. It is Mojo in the Morning Show, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Okay, I want to have you fill in the blank, and I want everybody to participate in this one. You're not cheating if you participate. Quick topic. I love my man, but blank is so hot. You cannot say a celebrity's name. Oh. So you cannot say a celebrity, whether they be an actor or an athlete or anybody. It's got to be somebody that you know in your daily life. The reason why I ask this question is, when asked this question, I love my man, but blank is so hot, who do you think ranked number one on most women in our listening areas?

02:48:15 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so it's not a specific person. It's like a genre of person.

02:48:19 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 2:

It was actually a specific person, but it all fit in the same mold of like what kind of person it was.

02:48:23 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say Tom, the guy who owns the handlebars in Toledo.

02:48:27 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So Tom from Handlebars. Love him. That's the guy that you love. Okay.

02:48:31 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 3:

He's now married and very happy, and we're very happy for him, but I am a little bit sad.

02:48:36 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, Tom's wife, watch out. She's coming for you. I love my man, but Blank is so hot. The interesting thing was when asked that question of just random people, number one on the list were firefighters.

02:48:52 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 1:

So it was like a genre of people, not a specific person.

02:48:55 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 2:

It was a person that was a firefighter. Number two is the UPS guys, which, by the way, it's interesting. And UPS guys still get a lot of love because they wear the brown uniforms. They wear the brown. And number three was that guy in the office, somebody that somebody works with.

02:49:11 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 3:

A little work love.

02:49:12 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Which, by the way, you got to be careful of that. I think, Kevin, you may be that for some of these women that are here in this office.

02:49:17 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 3:

I would love to be that for some of these women. Alicia's been looking a little good lately. Really? Yeah, I feel like it. See that pink shirt she had on last week?

02:49:25 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 2:

I did not. I did not notice that.

02:49:27 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I should say this. This is like HR violations. Respectfully.

02:49:31 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Dumped it. You can get in trouble.

02:49:33 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 3:

It is what it is.

02:49:34 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 2:

Wait, by the way, it's her saying it. She has to say it about you, not you saying it about her. All right. So I love my man, but blank is so hot. Shannon, who would be yours here?

02:49:45 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 5:

I thought you were going for a specific person, too, but I'll be general about it and say, without saying his name, I love my husband, but his best friend is really hot.

02:49:55 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, that's too close. Oh, no.

02:49:57 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 1:

You can't say that. No, his name. I don't know.

02:50:00 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 3:

And it is no secret, but I think his best friend Wildman is so hot. Okay, y'all don't start dropping names after I asked for clarification. I just dropped names. I know you did. I know you did. But Mojo, I asked for clarification, and then you threw me under the bus to get me to say it. I want to hear specific names of a person you find hot.

02:50:24 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 5:

I don't find, this is for men, women.

02:50:28 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea? He's taking her way out. No, but it's cool right now. You just said, everybody in this room has to participate. You did not say every woman has to participate. Thank you, Shannon.

02:50:37 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 5:

I cannot believe, though, that you would actually say that you think that, you know, Wes's guy, buddy. No, no, no, stop. Does that bother Wes? He's feeding right through.

02:50:46 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 3:

No, we're not going to let this go. I need a name from you right now.

02:50:49 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 5:

I would never, ever find any of my wife's friends at all.

02:50:52 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm going to throw something at you. All right, all right.

02:50:54 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 5:

I'll say this one. Okay, ready? I love my wife. I love my wife but the Mother Mary is so hot I love you Mother Mary thank you for what you did you gave us the son of God

02:51:10 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 2:

I've got another one I've got another one my husband is so hot but Scott Mick is also

02:51:19 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to say thank you so much for everything I'm leaving Goodbye.

02:51:29 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 5:

All right. Kevin, what about you? You got one here?

02:51:32 - 02:51:34 | Speaker 4:

I ain't even in a relationship, so it ain't like I got one.

02:51:34 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 5:

It doesn't make a difference. How about this one then for you? Would you like Nikki's? Nikki. All right. Nikki.

02:51:38 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 1:

Such BS.

02:51:39 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Say, I love your man. Go ahead.

02:51:41 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I love my man. I really do. 13 years down. But Kevin is so fun. Okay. Awesome. Nikki. Hey, a little quickie with Nikki. Okay. Hello.

02:51:54 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 5:

Wait. Hold on a second. Are you a taken woman when you say you love your man? Like, is that a 13 years, 13 years. So you actually love what would your guy do?

02:52:05 - 02:52:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I'll be back. My eyelashes. Yeah.

02:52:08 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 5:

Would you, would you ever ask your guy for a free pass?

02:52:12 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 1:

Would I ask?

02:52:13 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:52:14 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 1:

You should ask him. I wouldn't ask. I would just kind of just, I just, it's just that thing that you just look at. You don't go for it. You just kind of look.

02:52:22 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 5:

How about this? How about this? If your man said, okay, I'll give you a free pass with Kevin, but I got to watch, would you be down for that?

02:52:31 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I plead the one, two, three, four, five.

02:52:36 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, would you be okay with Nicky's man? No, he don't need to watch.

02:52:40 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 1:

You're not into that? You know, Nicky is about 5'10", 175 pounds of fun, but I don't think he's going to let you go for it. I'm sorry.

02:52:49 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's crazy. Yeah.

02:52:51 - 02:52:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Nicky.

02:52:51 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 5:

That is crazy. Call him all off. I love my wife, but Tom Brady is so hot.

02:52:57 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 3:

You said no celebrities.

02:52:58 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 5:

I love, and I know. Okay. All right. I would say this. Who would be, I'm trying to think of mine. Who would be the hot person?

02:53:05 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 3:

I know exactly. Yeah, I know a million of these.

02:53:08 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 4:

There's a girl that's a photographer for the Tigers. Yeah. Bro, she's so cool.

02:53:13 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 3:

The girl that's like very popular on TikTok.

02:53:15 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 4:

I don't know her TikTok.

02:53:16 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's very hot.

02:53:17 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 5:

You know who's hot for the Tigers is who's the sideline reporter that we met at the Tigers.

02:53:25 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 4:

She had that all brown on.

02:53:26 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Daniela, is that her name?

02:53:28 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 4:

I think so. I know her name.

02:53:29 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 5:

Yes, Daniela Bruce. Oh, my God, she was hot. She was very attractive. Bruce. Yeah. I love my wife, but our boss, Colleen, is pretty hot. What do you guys think? I agree with you. I mean, we've even talked. I really do agree with you. The girls, yeah. Yeah, there's a little sense.

02:53:46 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 2:

And she's kind, and she's stylish. She's very stylish. Yes.

02:53:51 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jeff, I'm not sure where Jack came from.

02:54:21 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, that's what I thought you said. We're giving you an alias so that your wife doesn't get mad. Oh, she's with God now, so it's okay.

02:54:30 - 02:54:34 | Speaker 2:

I thought you said loved. I'm so sorry.

02:54:34 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 5:

You know what, Megan?

02:54:35 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 2:

But what I heard is, you're thinking, too soon?

02:54:40 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 5:

No, it's never too soon. It's been four years. Perfect. His widow would want him to have a smile on his face, right?

02:54:49 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 3:

Jeff where do you live

02:54:50 - 02:54:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes I'm in Burton Michigan

02:54:53 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay how old are you Yes How old are you

02:55:00 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 1:

48. All right. All right. Okay. What's that 401k look like right now? Well, I've been a truck driver since 08. Oh, she already loves you. I actually called in a couple weeks ago about the crush thing or whatever, and it was a little bit off because I said Megan was my crush. Oh, jeez. Versus a coworker. Now. You guys remember that? Now he's sounding. Doubling down. I've invited you guys to come to a Firebirds game here in Flint. Okay. Not long ago.

02:55:35 - 02:55:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, Jeff.

02:55:37 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 1:

The season's done.

02:55:38 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 2:

One more phone call, and we have to get a restraining order for Megan here, okay?

02:55:41 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 1:

How big is the bed in the back of the big rig?

02:55:45 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Courtney?

02:55:48 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 3:

Yours is Jessica Dubnack for you. You know what? That is true.

02:55:52 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 2:

Jessica Dubnack is hot. There's something about Jessica Dubnack. But you know, the funny thing about her is I find her hotter when she's in the midst of doing a story that is like a murder or something. I don't know what the story is. Like when she's got like a really big, hardcore, like crime story going on and she's using a bunch of alliterations during her thing. Yeah. Get you moist. She's great. Pretty much. Nice and tender. What's going on? How you doing? Stop eating those grits over there while you're doing this. What's going on, Jenny? Hi.

02:56:25 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hi, good morning.

02:56:26 - 02:56:27 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

02:56:28 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Zach. She said hi, Zach.

02:57:07 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

02:57:18 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Does he own firearms?

02:57:21 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 3:

No, no, not at all.

02:57:22 - 02:57:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good, good.

02:57:23 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 3:

We're in. just because there's a goalie doesn't mean you can't score did you think that your

02:57:28 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 2:

husband would allow for a third in the relationship we could make that work for you

02:57:35 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 3:

probably not he is really jealous too do not tell him you call today

02:57:41 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 2:

02:57:47 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 3:

02:57:51 - 02:58:01 | Speaker 2:

I love it, Jeremy What's going on?

02:58:07 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 1:

The ladies have sexy voices?

02:58:12 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 2:

Thanks

02:58:12 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 1:

They do

02:58:14 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a question Let's rank the ladies here right now Let's see We got Shannon, Megan, Lydia, and Bianca. I don't know if you know Bianca. She's been new to the show here.

02:58:29 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 1:

But I've been listening for a couple weeks. I know Megan's voice a little bit. Wow. We're ranking on voice.

02:58:37 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 2:

We're ranking on voice. Okay.

02:58:41 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. Who is first?

02:58:42 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 2:

Who's first? Actually, go last to first. So who's the one you like the least?

02:58:49 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 3:

I haven't heard all their voices.

02:58:51 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 2:

Come on, y'all. Talk. Go ahead. Bianca and Lydia, will you say hello?

02:58:56 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mike. Hey, Mike. Oh, this is Jeremy. Hey, Jeremy.

02:59:00 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 2:

Jeremy. Jeremy. Call Mike if you want to.

02:59:02 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Jeremy. It's Bianca. Mike, sorry. What's up?

02:59:08 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 2:

Okay, Jeremy. So you got Bianca, Lydia. Now, Shannon, will you say hello?

02:59:12 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:59:13 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 2:

I just put food in my mouth.

02:59:14 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mike. It's Jeremy.

02:59:15 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 2:

No, his name is Jeremy.

02:59:16 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 3:

Jeremy. Are we okay? No.

02:59:19 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 2:

What about you, Megan? Can we say hello?

02:59:21 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Jeremy.

02:59:23 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 2:

All right. So who comes in fourth?

02:59:27 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 1:

Lydia.

02:59:28 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 2:

Lydia's fourth. Okay. Who's third?

02:59:33 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. It's a mix up between Shannon and the third lady.

02:59:37 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 2:

And Bianca. Bianca. You rank third.

02:59:41 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 3:

I'll take third over being called lady. All right.

02:59:44 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 2:

So there's a tie now. Actually, nobody. We don't have a tie. Megan's the winner.

02:59:49 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 3:

Megan is the winner

02:59:55 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 2:

I can be his only

02:59:58 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean Jamie let me let me just tell you let me just tell you Megan Megan is her her beauty is better better than her face but most of the time her beauty is better than her voice her beauty is better than her voice but usually her voice is the thing that's yelling at me for years

03:00:23 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 4:

nobody has called me pretty around here that makes so much sense that that just came out of his mouth. I have never once working for this show felt pretty. In case you were wondering, let's cement it right now, that I am clearly perceived as the ugliest person

03:00:41 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 3:

around here. No, you're not. Megan is hot.

03:00:46 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 4:

That was... Nah, that felt right.

03:00:50 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 3:

Megan is beauty. She's a beauty. Especially when she says, I hate you. I love when that happens. That's one of my favorites.

03:01:00 - 03:01:05 | Speaker 4:

online. MojoInTheMorning.com It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

03:01:36 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

03:01:40 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 3:

Alright, we're finding out what's going on. Colin went on a date only to have her completely blow him off. And he wants to know what's going on. Colin, you haven't heard from her after you guys went out to eat and had a great dinner together. Did you guys do anything after dinner?

03:01:57 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 2:

yeah so uh we didn't um basically like we met at a bar and then took her on a date to my favorite restaurant i thought it was going great and i don't know she was being like standoffish and quiet towards the end of the date and i don't know why um so i mean i only kissed her goodbye and i was i thought i was being super polite but so actually she did not show much interest

03:02:26 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 3:

during the date so it's not one of those situations where it's like man you know I really thought things went great and I want to get on another date with her you kind of want to know what it was that made her so standoffish we're going to find out for you right now Ashlyn is on the phone with us right now Ashlyn will you say hello to Colin

03:02:43 - 03:02:46 | Speaker 1:

hi

03:02:46 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 2:

hey hey I'm good

03:02:54 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 3:

I mean. Ashlyn, were you not interested at all in Colin? Are you probably sitting there thinking to yourself, why is he calling me to hear more?

03:03:03 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 1:

I mean, he did give me an allergic reaction.

03:03:09 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's the newest way of saying I didn't like the guy. He gave me an allergic reaction.

03:03:16 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 1:

How did that happen?

03:03:17 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 3:

Are you being serious or are you joking about that, just using that as a term?

03:03:21 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm being dead serious. And he ordered a salad with almonds. I told him, and he knows, I told him I was allergic. Even then, I told him I was allergic. But he still ordered it anyway. And he was like, oh, well, are you airborne? I'm like, no, but still, you know, like, I thought that was strange. And then I didn't say anything to him. And after he ordered it, he said, oh, you'll be fine. Like, you're going to be fine. And I was like, that is so insensitive.

03:03:52 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Did you eat the salad or he ate the salad?

03:03:56 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I didn't eat the salad. I told him I'm allergic. He ate the salad. Okay.

03:04:01 - 03:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so then what was bad with him ordering the salad?

03:04:07 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, he kissed me goodbye. Oh. And, yep, like, driving home, I started getting that reaction, and it got so bad. And, I mean, like, it was on me.

03:04:20 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 3:

Like I completely forgot that. Yeah. Yeah. The part. So like I kissed him and I was, but you know, you don't think about that as quickly. So after he kissed me, my reaction got so bad. I had to go to the hospital. Oh my gosh. So Colin, you didn't know this at all. She didn't text you and tell you that she's got an allergic reaction. This is the first. No. And like, why? Like you, you were, if it was such a big deal, like you, you didn't have to kiss me. Like you could have just said like, you need to go brush your teeth or something first.

03:04:49 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

and like why can't I just have the almonds why can't I just have the almonds in my salad like I don't think that's so no

03:05:00 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 5:

one around you can have almonds ever i mean if someone is a what the hell no i mean so i kind of understand where he's coming i do too he's you're you're saying it just shut up let us talk for you you're not saying it very nicely but i do so i have a million food allergies weston has a shellfish allergy we go out he's not airborne he has to actually ingest it i will still order something that has shrimp in it because i love shrimp but i you know how much do you have to

03:05:29 - 03:05:34 | Speaker 4:

brush your teeth to get the shrimp out of your breath or whatever, out of your mouth so he doesn't get his foodborne.

03:05:34 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 6:

I just don't, like, I don't know. You never had that happen? No. I understand that, though. If I'm in a relationship, a committed relationship like Shannon and Wes, then at that point, yeah, I'm going to order what I want to order. If this is a first date type of vibe, it's other stuff on the menu.

03:05:47 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. But with that said, you're on a date and she says, yeah, I have a peanut allergy. I'm not thinking, I got to look for peanuts on my stuff. I'm not thinking

03:05:57 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 7:

that anything's going to happen where this is going to affect you but quite honestly as somebody who doesn't have food allergies i wouldn't even know that me eating it would affect us at the end of the night if we had a

03:06:07 - 03:06:46 | Speaker 5:

i think it's polite though i'm also very hyper aware like i am anaphylactic to avocados it's so random i understand this but what does anaphylactic mean her throat my throat closes if i if i what no my throat would close if i ingested something with avocado avocado oil whatever guacamole um and so i am hyper aware of like everything that i'm consuming yeah or in this case you know like like you you said yourself ashlyn it was an oversight when he went to kiss you you kind of forgot that he had the almond like i think the whole thing is just kind of a big

03:06:46 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 6:

misunderstood yeah he didn't do it on purpose first date vibes bro if they're allergic don't order it.

03:06:52 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 7:

I just wouldn't think it would affect you. I truly wouldn't think it would affect you.

03:06:57 - 03:07:04 | Speaker 5:

If she said, yes, I'm airborne allergic to almonds and you still order it, well, then you're a dick.

03:07:04 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 6:

I think you're a dick anyway. She said, I'm allergic. Why even go that way?

03:07:10 - 03:07:17 | Speaker 4:

Kyle, what are your thoughts on this one? It's second date update here right now. Hello? Hi, Kyle.

03:07:17 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. Good morning. What's going on? uh after that whole thing and she explained it he was kind of basically just like why can't i just

03:07:28 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 4:

sort of kill you what's the problem with that oh come on he did i guess he did he did not explain

03:07:38 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 7:

he's a jerk but is the situation jerk behavior right is my question yes i don't even know if

03:07:45 - 03:07:46 | Speaker 4:

He's a jerk.

03:07:46 - 03:07:48 | Speaker 7:

He came off a little jerky today.

03:07:49 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 4:

He's a mouth breather, I think. What's going on? What's happening? How are you doing, Jen?

03:07:54 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm wonderful, Tommy. How are you doing?

03:07:56 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic, Jennifer. I love that. That's great. Do you know Shannon's real name?

03:08:06 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 3:

I do not.

03:08:07 - 03:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Gertrude.

03:08:09 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 5:

Gertie's actually not a real name. I'm not mad at that. I know a Gertie.

03:08:15 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 4:

What did you want to say, Jen?

03:08:17 - 03:08:38 | Speaker 3:

I wanted to say, well, Kevin kind of said it first. What did a-hole at the first date vibe order something else just to show consideration, be accommodating? Oh, that's cool. Other things on the menu. And then he said the comment while I was waiting about, can't I kind of kill you? Had you skipped the nuts in the salad, you could have done that later with another thing on your body.

03:08:39 - 03:08:49 | Speaker 5:

Let's not forget, he did say, are you airborne? Like, he did make sure that it wasn't going to affect her to just have it on the table.

03:08:50 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 4:

Here's a question, because I am allergic to gluten. If I'm allergic to gluten, I go on a date with you or you go on a date with somebody with a gluten allergy. Should you order gluten-free? No! Not because cross-contamination obviously does get me sick. But I'm saying in general, like, if you go out to eat, should you say, you know what? I'm going to order gluten-free appetizers for both of us because I want to make sure that you can eat the stuff.

03:09:13 - 03:09:15 | Speaker 7:

If I'm vegan, do you have to order vegan?

03:09:15 - 03:09:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the thing. That's all the steak case.

03:09:17 - 03:09:17 | Speaker 7:

No, bro.

03:09:18 - 03:09:20 | Speaker 6:

Let's draw lines. Well, see that? Draw lines.

03:09:20 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Where's the line? You're just nuts.

03:09:21 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 6:

No, you gluten. Glutens is... I almost cussed.

03:09:25 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 4:

No gluten. So you're okay? I go to the bathroom intensely with gluten allergy. What's up, Ashley?

03:09:30 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 5:

Gluten is Crohn's and colitis. Okay, but also, it makes me uncomfortable then if you are making a big deal out of, oh, I don't want to get anything with avocado. I don't want to make sure. Please order what you want to order. It's not that deep.

03:09:41 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 4:

I was just like, let me get a burger. I think you should know your own allergy, and I think that if you know your own allergy, you don't kiss the guy. What's going on, Allison?

03:09:49 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

I think y'all are tripping, and she's tripping, too. So how you going to tell this man what he can eat and what he can't eat? I don't like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, or relic, so that means a man can't order a burger the way he's.

03:10:00 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 6:

you want to eat it when he go out with me? That's crazy. That's different. You're not going to die off my relish. And she, like, what did she say? I've been kissing on the first date then. That's crazy. I mean, I'm with you there, too. I just feel like if he was trying to, like my first lady said, if he was going to be considering, trying to smash her, trying to show that he was a listener and affectionate, let me just not get the almond salad. First off, why is he ordering almond salads? Well, that's not the guy you want to be with.

03:10:30 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 5:

Um, Toya, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

03:10:32 - 03:10:33 | Speaker 6:

It's Dorothy's friend.

03:10:33 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 8:

Hey, I want to talk a little bit.

03:10:56 - 03:11:03 | Speaker 5:

All right, let's ask that question. And Ashlyn, you weren't into it from the get-go because he said that you were standoffish before you guys even kissed.

03:11:04 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 9:

I was standoffish because when I said, hey, I'm allergic to almonds, he was like, well, we'll order it anyway. And I'm like, okay. Like, it just felt like insensitive and he doesn't respect me. And that's when it kind of started plummeting a little bit from there.

03:11:21 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 5:

Okay. But he was ordering, were you ordering it, Colin, for yourself or for both of you guys?

03:11:26 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 2:

I was ordering it for myself. And listen, I'm sorry if I came off as a jerk, but the moment was not, like, this big thing where she's like, if I come into contact, I'm going to die. And she was just like, oh, just to let you know, I'm allergic. And I was like, oh, so, but, like, airborne? And she said no. And so I was like, she didn't seem to make that big a deal of it. But then, yeah, she got quiet. If it was that big of a deal, she could have said something, you know.

03:11:51 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 9:

Well, I did say something, and I feel like if you were considerate since you ordered the almonds, you could have been like, hey, listen, let's not kiss tonight. I know you ordered almonds. Like, let's do it, whatever. Like, just because I know that I ordered it and I was straightforward.

03:12:05 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 4:

But that's also your responsibility. Yeah.

03:12:09 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 9:

Cool. That's true. But it's still insensitive on the first date. And I get what he was talking about, that, like, on the first date, like, just be considerate. Like, on the second, third, cool. Like, we already understand.
