00:03:21 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it is great to have you here with us we got war of the roses coming up this morning and a wife thinks that her husband is cheating with the recently divorced woman down the street the recently divorced neighbor, that he's been helping her around the house a little bit too much, huh? What's going on there? We're going to find out. War of the Roses. And by the way, one of her suspicions is he's a police officer. And he, I guess, just recently got her out of some kind of a bit of trouble. So watch out, cops. We're coming for you this morning with the War of the Roses. By the way, this is no reflection on us. Please don't pull us over. We don't want to get any speeding tickets. We got a chance for you to win $1,000 coming up this morning a couple of times. Pay your bills and 13 times today. Wouldn't you like to have a little money in your pocket? Plus, win a car in our Find the Fob. Win a brand new Moran Chevrolet or $25,000 cash. That's happening this hour here on the show. So stick around. That starts at 630 right before the dirty. It's Mojo in the morning. Kev is starting the show. from home yeah how do i sound still got the yeah well you're a little tiny bit quiet you have a kind of a weak voice your your voice is a little light what about now you're

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 3:

You sound, to be quite honest with me or with you, like you stayed up too late last night because I got an email from you at 1230 at night.

00:05:08 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 2:

That's how all my emails come through at that time.

00:05:10 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 3:

I don't think that you should be doing that. You should be going to bed.

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 2:

You sound like my best friend.

00:05:15 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, the interesting thing is, and I thought I was your best friend and your grandma.

00:05:25 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Is it Mojo or Medea? I don't know.

00:05:27 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 3:

That's right. The interesting thing is that he's at home right now, but he'll be in the studio later today because Josiah's mom is out of town for some work business.

00:05:38 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

Correct.

00:05:39 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 3:

And so he had nobody to care for Josiah to get him off to school. And instead of doing the thing that I would have done, which was tell Josiah he's taking the day off and he's coming in to work with you, you're being the responsible dad. How's everything going there at home?

00:05:53 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I need to work this into my next contract. I need a one day at home every week. This is fabulous. Are you Howard Stern right now? Is this the thing that he can do? I got my feet up on the couch, ESPN's in the background. I can smell the English muffins cooking right now. The pineapples are glazed. I'm living life. I love Mojo. Why are the pineapples glazed? I don't know. It just sounded good.

00:06:15 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Wow. You have all that stuff at home? Like, I didn't know that. English muffins? And a couch and a TV. That's wild. Rich. rich no but you got all that you got all the the the food and stuff like if i if i was at home right now i'd have to doordash like i did here at the station gang and nothing in my refrigerator wouldn't you be a little worried if he had a kid at home and no food exactly so to your point since

00:06:39 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 2:

josiah's mom is away and i'll have just so we typically do week on week off but since josiah is in school and i'm doing the radio thing in the morning i can't take him to school in the morning So unfortunately, he can't sleep here at night. So I kind of just fend for myself and eat day by day. So yesterday I went to the grocery store since I'm going to have Josiah until Monday night. So, yeah, I got loads of food for us.

00:07:05 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

What time does he wake up for school? Like what time do you have to go get him up or does he wake up himself?

00:07:09 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

So his mom says that he wakes up himself. I did not experience that this morning. So during that last commercial break, and it's so beautiful. I have, like, this wake-up song for Josiah that I sung to him. I, like, rub his back. I'd be like, good morning, good morning. It's time to wake up. Then it's, like, a second verse and a bridge. It's the whole thing. Rise and shine. So he in the shower right now taking the doo-doo just like all good Irwin's do, and then we'll get dressed right off.

00:07:38 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 3:

So does he do the three S's or no? He's not shaving yet.

00:07:41 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 2:

What's the three S's? It's the shower, the spit, and the shave. Oh, yeah. Yeah, no shaving, but he's definitely showering and spitting. And we're wiping from the back.

00:07:51 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

That's right. That's right. So it's interesting. So Kev's at home, so he's getting – and by the way, are there any parents that right now are trying to get their kids up and their kids won't wake up? Because why is it – Chelsea used to – you know, I never got the kids up unless I had a day off. But Chelsea would tell me that it was not a pleasant thing. Josiah just gets up?

00:08:11 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 2:

With his mom – I think his mom is the more strict one. Like, she raises him like she's a Marine or something like that. She says he gets up, he brushes his teeth, washes his face, fixes his own breakfast, has his clothes lay out. I didn't experience any of that this morning.

00:08:26 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

But here's the problem, though. The problem is with my kids, when my kids got to be teenagers, Chelsea said that, you know, she would have to yell at them to get up, and then it got to a point where I said to her, I go, listen, they've got to face consequences. If you don't face consequences, like if you're not late in having to serve detentions after school, they'll learn their lesson that if they wake up earlier, they can get out of school at the right time, right? Yep, yep. I'm a big believer. I had to do that with you guys, for Christ's sake.

00:08:53 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? I've got to face that in fact. Yeah, Joe's trying to work the system. Last night, I'm like, what time do you typically go to bed? He's like, typically 9, but sometimes it stretches to 10.30. I'm like, nah. He's lying. Then I'm like, I text his mom, like, what time does he have to be at school? She's like 7.45, 7.50. He's like, well, typically on Thursdays, everyone's late, so I really don't have to get there until 8.15. That's when the lesson starts. I'm like, no, bro. He's playing you.

00:09:18 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 3:

That's right. This kid is playing. And you know what? You let him get away with it. I know you do because he's like your best buddy in the world, too.

00:09:26 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

He is, man. He's going to be at school on time, though. I'm going to have him there no later than 8 o'clock.

00:09:30 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 3:

And then you're coming into the studio here?

00:09:32 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yep. Hold on.

00:09:33 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Amy would like to call the iHeartRadio complaint line here. What's that? Amy, hi.

00:09:42 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's not a complaint line. I just want to point out that you do have a favorite, and it is Kev, because you went on a rant last week about people working from home and nobody being at the office, and there that guy is with his feet up on the couch.

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I will tell you.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, this is that he has no choice.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 5:

Our salespeople have choices.

00:10:01 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you this, that Kevin's making way more an effort than our sales department makes to get to work here. Because he legitimately is going to be in the studios a little later today. If he was truly just doing this from home the entire time, Amy, then I would be a complete hypocrite with the comments that I made last week about the sales department not showing up to the station here.

00:10:24 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

I'm just giggling to myself over here. I love you all equally, so it's fine.

00:10:29 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, though, I do have a favorite, and it's not him. It's actually Bianca. Bianca is my favorite right now.

00:10:34 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 2:

She's everyone's favorite.

00:10:35 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Do you see the video that she put together? Did you see the video she put together of the Easter Bunny, of Zach?

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 5:

I laughed so hard. Dude, I was laughing making that thing. I was like, no way I'm actually doing this right now.

00:10:46 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 3:

Amy, you've got to go check out Instagram and Facebook right now because we're giving away tickets to see Kendrick and SZA in the pit this morning on the show. We are doing Easter in Eastern Market. We have hid the Kendrick's keg, Easter keg. Every year we always do an Easter keg where we give away some prizes right around Easter. This year the prize is the Kendrick Lamar tickets. If you find the Easter keg with the Easter bunny, and that is Zach, you will win those tickets. And that is this morning after 7 o'clock. But that thing is out and about. And I'm going to tell you this to you guys. You can't get these pit passes right now. These pit passes, I saw on, was it StubHub or whatever? Somebody was asking me for some tickets. I'm like, oh, you know what? It's like a client. I'd rather just see if I can buy them. I could not believe what these pit passes are going for right now.

00:11:36 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Insane.

00:11:36 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 3:

What's the face value on pit passes? Because I saw tickets that were like $2,000 a ticket. Holy cow. Yeah.

00:11:43 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Something's got to change.

00:11:45 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

It's craziness.

00:11:46 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 2:

You know what we could have did?

00:11:47 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 3:

What's that?

00:11:48 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 2:

We could have did a contest called, like, Lick the Pit. Lick the Pit? And you had to, like, lick a armpit.

00:11:54 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, when we get closer, Or we got more of these things. We could do these things. Will Josiah join us for Shannon's Dirty coming up here in just a little bit?

00:12:04 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

He better be in the shower right now. We take long doo-doos here, bro. So he's probably still up there getting his...

00:12:09 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

I think he went back to bed.

00:12:10 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 5:

He probably did. You better go check.

00:12:12 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, go check on him. I bet you he's back in bed and he's probably sleeping right now.

00:12:16 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

I can't miss the Dirty.

00:12:17 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, no. Go check on him. I'm going to do this. I'll do this right here.

00:12:21 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:12:26 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

We'll give you a chance to win some tickets. This is to go to, what is it called? Crunk Fest Takeover starring Lil Jon E-40 Young Jock at Lil Caesars Arena on May the 24th. What year was this from The Three Clues? Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered in this year. Actually, it's my favorite of all the Real Housewives.

00:12:46 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 6:

Excuse me. We've all talked about it. I'm not talking to you. And I'm talking to you. Shut your f***ing mouth. I've had enough of you to be. Beast? Yeah. How dare you? How dare me? You came into my home. And I apologized. You don't have to actually do this. Actually, you didn't. I don't like you. Guess what? I don't particularly like you either. I can't find one damn thing to like about you right now in the moment. Oh, good. I've never found one thing to like about you. Whatever. I did nothing.

00:13:11 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. It's too much this early in the morning. Was Little Fockers the second movie or the third movie? I can't remember. Was it? It was the second one?

00:13:20 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 2:

The second one, yeah.

00:13:21 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 3:

Or was it the third? I don't know. Ben Stiller's Little Fockers came out.

00:13:24 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm going to mosey on out of here.

00:13:27 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

All right. Aloha. Wow, you told me she sold boner medicine. Greg, you didn't tell me she is boner medicine.

00:13:35 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 3:

And big song. Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. Love this song. What year was it? We'll set you up with a prize. Be back with more Mojo in the Morning, coming up next.

00:13:52 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 4:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. Hey, I'm sure he'll stop cheating once you get married. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. We're going to take you back in the day. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:14:15 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 3:

Tell us when this stuff happened. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. What year was this? It was the year that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered.

00:14:23 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 6:

Excuse me, I'm not talking to you. And I'm talking to you. Shut your f***ing mouth.

00:14:29 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 5:

I've had enough of you to face.

00:14:30 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Little Fockers starring Ben Stiller was the big movie.

00:14:33 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm going to mosey on out of here. All right.

00:14:37 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Aloha. Wow, you told me she sold boner medicine. Greg, you didn't tell me she is boner medicine.

00:14:45 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

Empire State of Mind. Big song. What year was it? By the way, we're going to be crushing the Empire State of Mind. When the Pistons start the series against the Knicks, are you eating right now?

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm having a croissant.

00:15:00 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 3:

But you've got to get croissants, too. This guy's got everything in his house. Josiah loves croissants. What year was this? Kenny, what year was that? That would be 2000 times. There you go. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with a prize. You got tickets to go see Lil Jon, Young Jack, E40, all at Lil Caesars Arena here in a few weeks. Congratulations to you. It's Crunk Fest. Take over. Thank you. Yeah, Kenny. Kenny, say hi to Josiah. He's somewhere there with Kev at home right now. Kev's getting him off to school this morning. Josiah, brother, just stay home. It ain't worth it. You're not going to miss anything. I promise you. That's the wrong advice, Kenny. Nobody will remember that you took an extra long weekend because he's off tomorrow, right, for the Good Friday Day? And he's off Monday for a quote-unquote, air quote, professional development. All right. You know what that means? That means give him a five-day. Come on. What kind of a dad are you that you're not doing this? Are you afraid of him? They're not even going to be learning anything today. All my kids are off today. Yeah, Kev, you know what's going to happen? I'm going to be quite honest with you. Kev's more afraid of Josiah's mom than he is of Josiah not learning anything at school. Like, I think it's all about that. What would Shannon do?

00:16:22 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 2:

My child would be going to school. Really? Yeah.

00:16:25 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

Shannon. Well, that's because Shannon's a goody-goody. Why would you not ask what I would do? I've got three productive children. Nah, I'd rather learn from Chelsea. How about Megan? Ask Megan. Megan, what would you do in this case?

00:16:41 - 00:16:42 | Unknown:

F them babies.

00:16:42 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. I was trying to find a polite way to say that at 6.30 in the morning, but no, that works.

00:16:49 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 3:

All right. All right. Here we go. We're going to give you a brand new car this year. We're going to give you a chance to win. You just got to find the fob, and it's a brand-new Chevy from Moran Automotive. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Be our first winner of the morning. 844-665-6548. 95th caller. Good luck. Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon with the Dirty on the 30, and if you're just tuning in right now, we mentioned this this morning when we kicked off. We've got a chance for you to win Kendrick Lamar SZA pit passes. You just got to find Kendrick's keg, a little Easter keg hunt with our Easter bunny, Zach. And that's going to be after the War of the Roses in the seven o'clock hour. What's up, Shannon?

00:17:31 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, Justin Bieber's team is denying this claim, this rumor that he is millions upon millions of dollars in debt since the 2023 cancellation of the end part of his Justice World Tour. One of his reps I chatted with about this last night, and she just said, this is 100% clickbait. plain and simple it's somebody who's pissed they no longer work with him who's spreading it and the whole thing is just unnecessary in the wake of everything else that's actually going on with him and the rumor was that bieber canceled the remaining dates in his justice world tour which for the record he did because he was dealing with a health issue remember he had that ramsey hunt syndrome he couldn't even talk i mean that was very legitimate but the cancellation again this this is the rumor, triggered a series of financial consequences that are still plaguing him today. And people said he owed the promoter like 20 something million dollars. But that is just not true.

00:18:29 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 3:

I think that they, when they do these tours, have insurance for health stuff. So I would assume that that's a BS story, too.

00:18:35 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Do you guys know who Haley Joel Osment is? Duh. Do you know that name? Yes. Here's how you will know that name if you don't recognize it. i see dead people from the sixth sense how old is that movie well haley joe osmond you want to feel old is now 37 what yeah 37 years old 37 years old and he was just arrested after cops got a call about a drunk dude at mammoth mountain ski resort in california and it just so happened And to be little, not so little anymore, Haley Joel Osment. The actor was booked for public intox and possession of a controlled substance, although cops had to send that to a lab to determine exactly what that was. I don't know what it was. Not the first time Haley's been arrested for an alcohol-related offense. Back in 2006, he suffered some shoulder and rib injuries after driving into a brick pillar after having some cocktails.

00:19:36 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 3:

Who was a cuter kid as a child actor, him or Kevin McAllister? which one was not even a conversation

00:19:45 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 2:

who do you say? Kevin!

00:19:47 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 3:

you think? because I always looked at those two I thought they were kind of like out at the same time brothers you know what I mean

00:19:53 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 2:

so to speak. You know who his sister is who? Emily yeah I was going to say it was a girl from Montana, Montana. Well, she also does... Haley Joel's sister. She also did Young Sheldon. I know they have a spinoff show. Yeah. Which we watched by. We now know what took the actress of, or what took the life, excuse me, of actress Michelle Trachtenberg, and it was complications from diabetes. The 39-year-old actress found dead in her apartment in New York City back in February. And remember, her family said they were passing on an autopsy for religious reasons. So the cause of death was based on toxicology test results, And that's how they knew that diabetes had something to do with that. And there is a growing trend called living apart together or LAT for short. Couples who are in committed relationships, but choose separate spaces, separate living spaces in their homes for more independence and personal growth. I feel like we've talked about this a lot, actually. But experts are now saying this setup can actually strengthen relationships by avoiding the feeling of being smothered, keeping that spark alive. But, you know, it does mean more bills because in some cases, this is not just two separate living spaces under one roof. This is two homes, which means a bit more juggling. But celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Brad Felchick, they have all embraced this lat lifestyle.

00:21:22 - 00:22:03 | Speaker 4:

I've never understood the celebrities that get married, like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, get married and then sell their places, move in together, and then they got to resplit everything up. I'm thinking to myself, why not have a couple of different places and then just decide which house you're going to go to and go back and forth? You got all that money. The average person here, though, is there's a lot now being said. I've talked to a builder friend of mine, Eric Johnson, who was telling me that a lot of people are doing double master bedrooms. Because a lot of people are not staying in the same room for sleeping purposes. Like they will have a good relationship. They just won't sleep together. They'll have their sex in whatever room they decide to.

00:22:04 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 2:

I would actually, that would work so well for Wes and I. Like this morning, I felt like the biggest jerk because I'm like blow dry my hair. I dropped a bunch of stuff in the bathroom and the bathroom is like five feet from his head, you know, when he's sleeping. I'm so, I try not to be, I'm so loud in the morning. That would be super helpful. Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor have been together for over 10 years. and they have separate houses.

00:22:24 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I love her. Kev, take us on a tour of your home right now. Like, I've never been to your home and you're broadcasting live. I want to know what, what do you got there? What's, what is there?

00:22:48 - 00:22:53 | Speaker 4:

There's 40 acres in downtown Detroit? Where do you find a 40 acres in downtown Detroit?

00:22:53 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, Kev.

00:22:55 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 4:

Like, I really do. I know you think that I'm joking when I say this to you. I'm very inquisitive to see what people's homes are. And I think our listeners would be.

00:23:02 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm the same way. You're going to come over in the summertime, bro.

00:23:06 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 4:

00:23:08 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 3:

00:23:32 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 4:

You better check on him. I'm telling you, the kid's going to be, he's going to miss school today.

00:23:36 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 2:

Probably asleep on the toilet.

00:23:38 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 4:

Priscilla is our first winner.

00:23:41 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 1:

Priscilla. I love your name.

00:23:44 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Are you there, Priscilla? Good morning. There you are.

00:23:47 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm here.

00:23:48 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 4:

You're quiet. A little quiet today?

00:23:51 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm tired.

00:23:53 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 4:

What the heck are you doing up so early in the morning, 643?

00:23:57 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm a fifth grade teacher. I'm getting ready for work.

00:23:59 - 00:24:11 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what would you do for Kev? He's going to take Josiah to school. All the listeners, including Kenny, just a little bit ago, said, Kev, just give Josiah the day off. As a teacher, what do you recommend?

00:24:13 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 1:

I would just say, well, it's one more day because we're off tomorrow for Good Friday. So I would just tell them, you know, just to push through it. You're responsible.

00:24:23 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 4:

You have to say that. Otherwise, you'll get in trouble from school. Yeah. Hey, congratulations. I know somebody's not going to school on May the 2nd. You need to get a substitute that day because you're going to try to win a car. Yes, I am. Congratulations to you. Moran Chevrolet, May the 2nd, grand finale. You got to find the fob. You find it. You win it. What do you want to drive?

00:24:42 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 1:

I was talking about the Traverse. I like the Traverse.

00:24:45 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 4:

It's beautiful. Yeah, get that thing. I don't know what color you'd like, but...

00:24:49 - 00:24:51 | Speaker 2:

I had a Traverse. I loved that car.

00:24:51 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 4:

That thing's... That's a great SUV.

00:24:53 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:24:53 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 4:

So the...

00:24:54 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay, nice, nice.

00:24:55 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

The Traverse, I like... Is it... I don't know whether it's like the sports-up version.

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 2:

but it's got like red, you know, little on it and stuff like on the tires, like the red caliper on the tires.

00:25:06 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I like that. I like that.

00:25:09 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hang on one second. We're going to give you a chance to win again coming up after we do War of the Roses in the 7 o'clock hour.

00:25:16 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 5:

When you're cheating, X gets cheated on. Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

00:25:40 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 2:

We got a special Easter holiday edition of giveaways today. As we do our Easter keg, our annual Easter keg, we're calling it Kendrick's keg and a chance to win Kendrick and SZA pit passes coming up this hour on the show. If you think that you're being cheated on, we're going to get to the War of the Roses. But we want to hear from you. Text cheater to 95500.

00:26:03 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 5:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:26:09 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 2:

Tamara, why do you think that your husband is cheating on you?

00:26:13 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, he's been spending a lot of time with a woman on our block who recently got divorced. And it's just a lot of time.

00:26:24 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 2:

What is his excuse for why he's spending so much time with a now single woman that lives in your neighborhood?

00:26:34 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, he says he's just helping her out, like around the house and stuff. One of the excuses was she got a ticket and he was trying to help her get out of it, which kind of tracks because he's a cop. But I think just in general, because I keep asking, he just keeps saying he feels bad because she doesn't have a man around the house to, like, help her and protect her. And he's just trying to be nice.

00:26:58 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 2:

Are you friendly with this woman? This is a lot. Like, is this somebody that you, are you friendly with her? Like, have you spent any time with her?

00:27:07 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 3:

Not really. I mean, just from seeing around the neighborhood, walking the dogs and stuff. But general.

00:27:14 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 2:

So he would go over and spend time at her house, and yet you two are not, like, friends. That just doesn't seem right.

00:27:22 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, no, it's not. I mean, friends, no, we're not friends, but, you know, we've had neighborhood, like, barbecues or whatever.

00:27:32 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 1:

And also helping her with a ticket, to me, like, he doesn't even have to go to her house to do that.

00:27:38 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't like the idea that the divorced lady in the neighborhood is spending time with your husband. Like, that to me just seems like he shouldn't be doing that.

00:27:52 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 1:

Especially since it's not somebody, like you said, who's part of a friend group that you guys have had for, you know, since you moved into the neighborhood or something.

00:28:01 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We're hoping that they go to Tamara. Mute your phone so he doesn't get suspicious when we call.

00:28:12 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:28:13 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 2:

It's the War of the Roses.

00:28:22 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:28:24 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm looking for Carter.

00:28:28 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 4:

Who's this?

00:28:29 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Carter. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you. Do you have 30 seconds to answer some survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses? Totally free of charge.

00:28:43 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm kind of in a hurry.

00:28:45 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 1:

It will truly take less than a minute, and I'm not going to ask you for credit card information. It's nothing like that. It's just an advertising strategy for us to get our name out there. One minute tops. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Carter?

00:29:01 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:29:02 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:29:06 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 4:

Not really.

00:29:07 - 00:29:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay, that was a survey. And now I'm authorized to provide you with a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can actually be shipped out as early as today, if that's okay with you. I just need to get a first and a last name of who you would like these flowers sent to.

00:29:27 - 00:29:30 | Speaker 4:

You need the last name too? Can I just send them to Becca?

00:29:30 - 00:29:51 | Speaker 1:

uh i i do need a last name okay um i think her last name's um uh or a first a first initial of the last name do you know that yeah it's okay um do you have becca's phone number

00:29:51 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 4:

i do yeah okay i need that too oh um

00:30:00 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and what's her relationship to you?

00:30:17 - 00:30:18 | Speaker 3:

Excuse me?

00:30:18 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 1:

Her relationship to you, basically I'm creating a profile, so when you order from us again, it's really quick. I'll be able to just click who they're going to, and you won't even have to go through any of this again.

00:30:30 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, I probably won't send these flowers again, but yeah, she's just someone I know.

00:30:36 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and confirming that Red Roses is okay?

00:30:41 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:30:42 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and Carter, we do something unique at rosesbloom.com. Instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, we're going to send Becca a text letting her know that she has a delivery. And then this voice memo that you're going to record is going to come along with that so she'll know who the flowers are from. So I'm going to count you down and you just talk, say basically what you would say on a card. All right?

00:31:04 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:31:05 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 1:

Three, two, one.

00:31:10 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Bex. I just wanted to send you these so that you know that your kids aren't the only one out there who love you.

00:31:22 - 00:31:23 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:31:24 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 1:

Is that good?

00:31:26 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I feel like, was that good?

00:31:30 - 00:31:34 | Speaker 1:

I'm good with it as long as you're good with it. We can always record it again.

00:31:35 - 00:31:39 | Speaker 3:

No, it's fine. I should get going anyways.

00:31:39 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay, real quick, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:31:46 - 00:31:46 | Speaker 2:

Sure.

00:31:47 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:31:47 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 2:

Carter, I'm going to jump on just to finish off this call, and then we're going to send those flowers out. Okay? Okay. I just want to jump on real quick just to let you know one last thing, that while we've been talking to you and you've been sending flowers out, that your wife, Tamara, has been listening in and just heard every word that you just said.

00:32:15 - 00:32:16 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:32:16 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 2:

okay carter this is the mojo in the morning show and your wife tamra called us up to do the war of the roses because she was worried that you were cheating on her and just heard you send flowers to another woman yeah i mean

00:32:34 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 3:

it's this is this is this is a neighbor this is like not another woman

00:32:42 - 00:32:46 | Speaker 2:

Tamara is this the person that you were talking about

00:32:46 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 4:

I don't think yeah you just sent something to a woman that's not your wife not me you're a married man you don't do that

00:32:57 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's not it's not how it seems how does it seem Carter what is it uh she's you know she she's uh i mean he's met her she's she's uh she's just in a tough place

00:33:22 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 1:

right now but that is not up to you that is not up to you to bring her out of that tough place and you can see where your wife would be extremely hurt that you think of this woman before you think of her.

00:33:37 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I really didn't mean anything by this.

00:33:41 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 2:

The problem, though...

00:33:42 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know what that means.

00:33:43 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

The problem is that you're saying that to your wife who just heard you send flowers to another woman and talk about how she's loved by more than just her kids. I think the story that Tamara told us about her being uncomfortable by this thing is either something that you just didn't understand that she was being serious about, or honestly, there is something going on between the two of you guys. I'm going to have you guys... We can talk. I'm going to have you guys hang on and talk to each other with just the two of you guys, okay?

00:34:27 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:34:31 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 2:

Hold on one second. Ha ha, bust it again

00:34:34 - 00:34:40 | Speaker 1:

It's your home for War of the Roses

00:34:40 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Don't miss this

00:34:44 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning

00:34:46 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

When we come back here next, there's two things to this War of the Roses that I wanted to mention and I want to get your thoughts on it too Two things, number one Don't ever trust the recently divorced woman down the street, that's just one I'm telling you, your husband's hanging out at her house

00:35:00 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 4:

He ain't hanging out there just to actually talk to her about, I don't know, lions and tigers and sports and things like that. And he's a cop cheating. Not a very smart cop that he didn't catch on that was us. When we come back here next, why is it that when you look at the list of occupations that cheat the most, police officers are really right at the top of that list? Yes. We'll be right back. Let's talk more next. Don't go anywhere.

00:35:30 - 00:35:43 | Speaker 2:

00:36:41 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Hey, hey. We're giving away tickets, pit passes to go see Kendrick with Kendrick's Keg. It's our Easter Keg hunt that we're going to be doing today. You can go look at the video as we do Easter in Eastern Market this year. Zach is the bunny, and he and the keg are hidden somewhere in Eastern Market. Real quick, I want to check in with Zach. Zach? Hello. How are you doing, Easter Bunny? Are you actually in the bunny costume still? Did you stay the night there?

00:37:15 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm in the bunny costume. I did spend the night in it. It's a little warm, a little smelly right now, but we're having a good time.

00:37:21 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 4:

But what's the craziest thing that anybody said to you when they saw you out and about hopping around Eastern Market yesterday, Bunny?

00:37:29 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 3:

It was this older gentleman. He was like, oh, I like the way you're doing that. I could rent you out for the weekend. And I said, ow. And then he came back and he was like, my kids would love it. And then I was like, oh.

00:37:45 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you thought that the guy was trying to be a little. So, yeah, that, no, that's not necessarily an Eastern market where that stuff happens down here. Yeah, I didn't realize. That happens in other areas around town. Although I don't know necessarily if you can actually rent out bunnies just hanging out on the street. You got the tickets with you, Zach? Are you, you right there? I know you got the keg.

00:38:11 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I believe we do. You do have the tickets right here.

00:38:14 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 4:

You got it. Okay. All right. And so full access here to Zach after we get done with the dirty and after we get done with our contest, giving you a chance to find the fob coming up here in just a little bit. It's our Easter keg hunt, and you have a chance to win Kendrick's keg, win Kendrick Lamar pit passes coming up in just a little bit. Any questions you guys have for the bunny while I got him on the phone?

00:38:36 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 6:

Zach? Not yet, but I'll think of some for you.

00:38:40 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 5:

What about Kev? Kev, you got anything for him at all? Anything you want to ask him? No?

00:38:45 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 3:

Are you, uh, are you warm? Oh, I'm super warm. It's covering my face while I'm looking at the promo people, and they're just chilly.

00:38:54 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 6:

Are carrots still your snack of choice, or is there something different that you enjoy?

00:38:59 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 3:

I do like carrots, but I'm more of a chocolate bunny. I eat, you know, I love chocolate bunny.

00:39:03 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 6:

Do you lay the eggs, or are you just the delivery guy?

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm just the middle man. I'm just the middle man. I do not deliver the eggs.

00:39:12 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 4:

What's warmer, this costume or the last costume you put on? Which one was that one? Was that the hot dog costume?

00:39:18 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 3:

That was the rat. The rat.

00:39:19 - 00:39:20 | Speaker 4:

The rat costume, yeah.

00:39:21 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 3:

The rat, I would sweat my ass in. Okay. So this is a little more cooler.

00:39:25 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 4:

This is good. Okay. All right, so better for the spring. The Easter costume is better for the spring. All right, we'll check back with you in just a little bit, Zach, okay?

00:39:33 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

All right, talk to you guys soon.

00:39:34 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 4:

00:41:08 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 2:

but I think you say like back's like that or even babe I think they're both similar I think that's definitely lovey what's going on Samantha where are the roses

00:41:16 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 8:

hello the part of the recording which is not the only one that loves you What does that mean? Yeah.

00:41:22 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 3:

Your kids aren't the only ones out there who love you.

00:41:26 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:41:26 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 8:

Uh-uh. No, if my man said that, it would be over in a minute. There'd be no second guessing. No. Mm-mm.

00:41:32 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's no coming back from that one. Absolutely not. Thank you for the call. Hold on a second here. Is it Amar Ellis? Is that right?

00:41:42 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 9:

Amar Ellis.

00:41:43 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 2:

Amar Ellis. Oh, my God. You were so close. It says phonetically up there, and I thought to myself, I'm like, it says, yeah, she's,

00:41:50 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 9:

All good, all good.

00:41:52 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 2:

Amaryllis. What's up, Amaryllis?

00:41:54 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, it's time for the wife to go check Bex.

00:41:58 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Bex. I think Bex needs a visit, don't you think?

00:42:01 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, well, we can see why she's divorced.

00:42:04 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's a question for you on this one. The divorced person down the street calls your husband up and says, hey, can you come over? Don't you stop that right away? Like, don't you just have a little conversation and say.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 9:

I'll be the one coming over.

00:42:16 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, or let's, let's us go over there and help her with whatever she needs help with or, you know.

00:42:23 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, yeah. It's just what I've been having. There's a problem.

00:42:27 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 2:

When, when you don't have a relationship, like it's another, it's, it's one thing if you have a friendship with them. Because then you can feel like you can trust them a little bit. If you have no friendship at all with them, there's something to this.

00:42:40 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.

00:42:42 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:42:42 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 3:

It's easier for you to back up. But you need to go check her.

00:42:45 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. am our ellis

00:42:48 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 1:

i think we're doing a lot of speculation without enough information oh i have people that i'm cool with and i'm close to and i don't know what that lady going through maybe she confided in him for whatever reason he recognized that and he's just saying like you know your kid's not the only one who love you because the kid's probably the only ones that really know the situation and see their

00:43:13 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 2:

mom in pain every day yeah but if you're kev uh the wife and you're hearing that to another woman don't you think that you're starting to let your mind go wander yeah but i mean that's that's that's

00:43:26 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

what assumptions lead right that's one of the four laws don't assume because nine times out of ten where that is where that assumption will lead you is nothing but devastation and despair so now that you have information ask some questions don't just jump off the bridge i get where you're going with

00:43:41 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 3:

fat cav but then in that situation if he was trying to just remind her that she is loved by a lot more people wouldn't he say in the voice memo you know love carter and tamra like wouldn't he bring his wife into the we are we are sending you these because we are thinking of you and we want you to remind you to send these as a reminder that you're loved shannon i totally understand that

00:44:06 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 1:

And in a perfect world, I think that would work out. But I think maybe his wife doesn't like her in the first place.

00:44:13 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 2:

Well, if his wife doesn't like her, I don't think you should be hanging out with her.

00:44:16 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 1:

Come on, bro. You know women sometimes just be tripping.

00:44:20 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but it's your relationship and your home and your day-to-day life. Why would you try to piss her off?

00:44:25 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm not saying you try to piss her off. But I know sometimes I've been in relationships where I don't think it was right. And sometimes I didn't do what I felt was right just to appease the woman that I was with for the sake of appeasing her, even though she really didn't have a real reason to feel how she felt other than she was just emotional and tripping.

00:44:44 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. Andy, what do you think of Kev's kind of, hey, let's all take a breath here for a moment.

00:44:51 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 6:

Get to pull his head out of the sand. Kevin, come on. You know, because, you know, you don't say love.

00:45:00 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 5:

you to and then becca you know there's just way too much going on and then you know like you were talking earlier he's a police officer you know i i actually have five uh cousins that are police officers four of the five are all divorced and remarried interesting yeah it's by the way it's

00:45:21 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 4:

an occupation that tops the list of people that go through divorce i think a lot is the stress in the relationship but there's probably also others you know other things that come into play

00:45:30 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 5:

You know, and also, you know, they're married. You know, Kev was never, you know, he, I don't think he was ever married.

00:45:39 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 4:

No, not married yet. So, Kevin, you think married's different than dating? Of course. No, I'm asking, I was asking Andy that question, too.

00:45:49 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I do, yeah. Okay. You know, there's a commitment there, you know, you've got a contract.

00:45:54 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:45:54 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I also think, I think people who wait until they, like if i'm in a fully committed relationship and i'm at the point where i've established that this is someone that i'm marrying hopefully my whole world in terms of commitment doesn't change simply because i said i do i should be practicing those same habits before i walk down the aisle because

00:46:13 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 4:

at that point you already who you are michelle what did you want to say to kevin oh kevin i

00:46:19 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 2:

normally love you love you love you but today i want to strangle you oh it's my if my husband had sent flowers to another woman i would get his chainsaw out and cut down every tree in our yard

00:46:35 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 3:

yeah i like that but the only reason the only reason i say this is because and it could be completely different because i see people every day that i work with and we build relationships but if i'm in a relationship and bianca for example confides in me and says some stuff and I'd be like, all right, Kaji, I love you, man. I just wanted to send you some flowers. Like, I know our relationship. That's the only reason I say that.

00:47:00 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hey, Michelle, if the divorced lady down the street comes to your man and starts talking, why are you calling us first for War of the Roses? Why aren't you going down there and beating down her door going, let's have a conversation?

00:47:14 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. I bring my chainsaw to that conversation.

00:47:17 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Right. Well, I mean, maybe not to that extent. I shouldn't ask you that.

00:47:20 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 2:

Someone needs to take the chainsaw away from you.

00:47:22 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm a little worried, by the way, and your man doesn't need a chainsaw. All right. Thank you for the call. Appreciate it.

00:47:28 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:48:11 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Cav is actually, you might have noticed his mic sounds a little different. It's got a little bit of a hiss and stuff. It's okay. He's just home for like an hour and a half. It's got like a, you got bad cell or bad Wi-Fi at home, probably. Your Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded.

00:48:27 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 3:

Get to it. Get to it.

00:48:30 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 4:

All right. So real quick, is Josiah getting ready to head out? Are you getting ready to go to school?

00:48:35 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's, I think, finishing up breakfast right now, fully dressed. I think I'm going to leave out in like three minutes. Can we get words from him before?

00:48:43 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Joe! Come here. Well, we'll get inspirational words from Kevin's son, Josiah. Josiah's mom is away on a work trip. Kevin has to be at home just to get him off to school, even though our listeners were all saying that he should have just let him stay at home. All right, he here. What you want to know? Josiah. Hi, Joe.

00:49:05 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:49:06 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

What's up, buddy? How you doing?

00:49:08 - 00:49:10 | Unknown:

I'm doing good. How are y'all?

00:49:10 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic. Josiah, I think personally you should just take an extra long weekend. I do not do that. But going to school is a good option, too. You don't want to grow up to end up being like us, all right?

00:49:23 - 00:49:24 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:49:24 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, wait, you're not supposed to say yeah. You're supposed to say no. I want to be like you guys. What do you guys got going on in school today? And if you find out when you go to school that they just put a movie on for you guys, I'm going to be upset that you went to school today.

00:49:36 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 5:

Movie day is the best day. Oh, no.

00:49:38 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, they do that sometimes. Like, last week in PE, they played a movie for us to watch.

00:49:43 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 4:

They did? What movie did they play in gym class?

00:49:46 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 1:

They played, yeah, and one time they also, we watched The Magic School Bus. Oh, okay. Heck yeah.

00:49:54 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

The Magic School Bus is good. All right, well, listen, it's good to have you here. We love getting a little.

00:50:00 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 5:

insight on behind the scenes dad Kevin, which by the way, would you say on a scale of 1 to 10, is your dad like somewhere in the middle? Is he towards the closer to 10? What is he? Like in what terms? As far as like being a good dad, good responsible guy, teaching you good things.

00:50:22 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 6:

I'd give him a good let's see here. A good 9.8. A 9.8.

00:50:28 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 4:

You're perfect. What would give him that 100% score, Joe?

00:50:36 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 5:

If he let you stay home today?

00:50:37 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if you guys heard me, but I said 9.5 out of 100. Oh, 9.5. He really out here saying boo. Out of 100, by the way.

00:50:49 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 5:

Out of 100. He can see this belt I got in my hand. Oh. You have headphones. Yeah. Yeah, see that? He's calling you off for being a liar. All right. Let me borrow her chainsaw. All right, Shannon's going to do the dirty. If you guys want to chime in, you can. What's going on, Shannon? Hi.

00:51:09 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 4:

So, Khloe Kardashian on the Call Her Daddy podcast this week, talking about all sorts of stuff. I love Khloe because she's just so open. She'll really talk to you about anything. The best Kardashian. Yeah, but she talked at one moment about the time she busted Lamar Odom cheating on her.

00:51:26 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 3:

I was there and I remember asking the guy at the front. I was like, hey, is Lamar Odom, where's Lamar Odom? Like he's this big guy, you can identify him. He told me what room he was in. I saw in the window that him and this girl were, they were either naked or in, she was in lingerie, something like that. I knocked on the door, they answered it for some reason and I just started going ballistic. And I remember the next day, it was I think Penelope's birthday party and it was a cowboy party My knuckles were all bloody and gross, and I just had bandanas wrapped around. I was on theme, and I acted as if nothing ever happened, and I don't think I ever said a thing.

00:52:05 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that crazy showed right up to the hotel where she knew that he was? Now, how did she even know where he was in the first place? The best part.

00:52:15 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 3:

You're this seven-foot-tall man, and you're on the Lakers. Everyone knows who you are. You're very identifiable. So I think how I found out was people on Twitter were like, Lamar Odom is da-da-da. And so I, of course, in that psychotic, I searched his hashtag.

00:52:32 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 4:

Searched his hashtag. But I don't think that's psychotic when he was acting the way he was. For sure. For sure. She also revealed that Kim and Kris Jenner were the ones who informed her about both Lamar and Tristan Thompson cheating on her before she found out. and she was asked about paychecks who gets paid most on the kardashians she said they're all paid equally oh they're not doing equal work but she said they all have the ability to cut and edit footage that they don't like from the show and she called out her sister courtney for being the one who requests the most edits oh that was interesting our detroit pistons counting down the hours until game one tips off saturday in new york i saw that the michigan central train station was all lit up in Piston's colors, which is pretty cool. And Kate Cunningham says you can't help being the bad boys when you're repping Detroit.

00:53:27 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm not saying you guys are reincarnation, but you guys have some very tough players on this team, and you guys don't back down. Do you guys ever think about the legacy of what it means to be a Piston, that bad boys era? Are you guys trying to be a reincarnation of that era?

00:53:39 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, when you're in Detroit for long enough, I think it just naturally, like, infectious, like, it's contagious. You know what I'm saying? Everybody's walking around with it. Everybody kind of carries it with them. So I think that's, you know, the first step of being an athlete in Detroit is you got to play hard. You got to have some type of grit. Grit is the word that everybody always uses.

00:54:02 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 5:

By the way, Kev, have you seen that there's a call right now all over social media for them to bring back the final countdown as the song when they do the intro? I have, and I cannot speak any further. What? Oh, okay. So there's a call that says that the Pistons need to bring back where Mason does the, you know, the starting lineups.

00:54:22 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 4:

They stopped doing that?

00:54:23 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 5:

They stopped using the song.

00:54:25 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 4:

I don't know that they stopped using the song. What have they been using?

00:54:27 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 5:

What do they use now, Kev? Just some other song.

00:54:29 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Yeah.

00:54:30 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 5:

So there's a call from all these people all over social media basically saying, hey, this is truly what you remember the Pistons for.

00:54:40 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 6:

It's the only thing I know about the Pistons.

00:54:42 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 5:

Which is funny because they used this way back when the bad boys, bad boys were there and then brought it back for the 0-4 you know uh season I didn't realize they

00:54:50 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

stopped it in between the bad boys and the 0-4 season yeah they kind of like stop stopping it that's what I know you for and I don't follow basketball it's got to be done in the right way

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

and

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 6:

It has to be done with teams that deserve it, just to be candid and frank. And if you have a franchise that isn't performing well, then you don't want to disrespect the greats who earned that song.

00:55:09 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 4:

But doesn't that hurt team morale by your franchise telling you you're not a good team?

00:55:14 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 6:

No, no, I don't think it hurts team morale at all. I think it helps. You earn it. It's like me when I constantly win the throwback throwdown. Oh, my God. Something different.

00:55:25 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 5:

Good luck tomorrow. You'll have no chance. I'm going to make it really hard for you.

00:55:28 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 6:

First game, though. The first game for the playoffs is Saturday at 6 p.m. on ESPN. So everybody tune in and go to the Pistons from home.

00:55:35 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 5:

There's also people pissed that I guess they play on draft day, too. They play with the NBA draft. I think their home game will be it, right, during the NFL draft?

00:55:44 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 6:

Thursday, yeah, Thursday the 24th.

00:55:46 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 5:

So people are upset about that. And then did you hear the other thing with the Pistons? The owner, they say, has not allowed for people outside of Michigan to buy tickets to the game.

00:55:57 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 6:

I think they relegated it to Ontario, Canada, the state of Michigan, Ohio, and I want to say Illinois. Outside of those areas, you can't buy tickets. Just let it go.

00:56:08 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can't. New Yorkers, they don't want buying tickets and coming here.

00:56:13 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Have you guys ever listened to him? I really like him a ton. So he had the late Liam Payne's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, on as a guest this week. and um she god it was so sad but she described the moment that she found out that something was terribly terribly wrong Liam was in Buenos Aires she had just come home like two days prior

00:56:39 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 3:

I got a phone call from one of Liam's friends and he called me and said is Liam okay I heard he fell from a balcony and I said what that must be a rumor I was like that's not true at all Like, there's no way this, this isn't true. And when his friend first called me to, he didn't mention anything about death. So the first thing that went to my mind was either it was a rumor, just something for clickbait, or he fell off a balcony and he broke a rib. Like, he's okay. So I'm making all these phone calls and nobody's answering. At this point, I'm like starting to freak out and I'm starting to get a little bit panicky. i call his friend back and i say um have you heard any updates i'm really confused like what's going on and he was like the only update i've heard is that liam's liam's um liam's dead and um in that moment i still didn't believe it to be true there was just no way but there was just that one little part of me in the back of my head that was like why would somebody make this up

00:57:50 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 2:

you know awful you find out like thinking it's a rumor at first oh um she also talked about their very chilling last conversation i remember sitting there with him and i was going on and on and on

00:58:01 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 3:

and saying to liam how much i love him and he laughed and he interrupted me and he just said kate like you're gonna miss your flight your car's in the driveway you're acting like this is the last time you're ever gonna see me again yeah wow yeah isn't that crazy hey for all of

00:58:17 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 2:

00:58:52 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, this, I haven't even had coffee yet. Wow. And I am pumped. What? How do you not? Good way to start to your day.

00:58:58 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 5:

You get that natural buzz going in the morning.

00:59:01 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah.

00:59:02 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 5:

Thanks for listening and waking up. Congratulations to you. Fine. The FOB is at Moran Chevrolet off of Gratiot. You're now in the running to win a brand new Chevy. Congrats to you.

00:59:14 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 4:

So welcome. Or you can pick $25,000 cash. Another chance happens at 830. Hang on the phone and we'll get some information from you, okay? Okay, thanks again. You're welcome. All right, we got to check in real quick with the Easter Bunny.

00:59:30 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 6:

Reincarnated. I'm a star-gazing.

00:59:32 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 5:

By the way, can you imagine if this was the Easter Bunny's music? It's like, here comes the Easter Bunny.

00:59:37 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 4:

Reincarnated. Honestly, I do find the Easter Bunny terrifying, so it fits. Oh, yeah. He is.

00:59:42 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 5:

I want to talk about that next, right after we get done with Zach here, because I want to talk about the fact that the Easter Bunny should be banned. You there, Bunny? Hello. Are you in Eastern Market, Easter Bunny?

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

I am in Eastern Market giving out an Easter cake.

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the Easter bunny needs a ho-ho-ho like Santa Claus has.

01:00:03 - 01:00:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like what is it? What is the Easter bunny's catchphrase?

01:00:06 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 1:

I just sneezed, so I kind of have like sniffles so I could go.

01:00:10 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I don't like that. No. Didn't we say there's a code word for people to find you? If they find you, what do they have to say?

01:00:16 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 1:

They have to say hop, hop, hop. Oh, there you go.

01:00:19 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 4:

So instead of a ho-ho-ho, it's hop, hop, hop because it's Kendrick tickets. Yeah, there you go. You got to say it like Kendrick does it. All right. So here's the deal. So the bunny is out right now in location with the keg. If you find the bunny in the keg right now in Eastern Market, the first person to do it starting now wins Kendrick Lamar pit passes, and you will go to see Kendrick and SZA in June at Ford Field.

01:00:45 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 2:

With the keyword.

01:00:46 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 4:

The keyword is? Hop, hop, hop, hop. Hop, hop, hop. Exactly. Yes. Zach, are you ready?

01:00:52 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm ready. All right. Come get your tickets.

01:00:55 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 4:

Get your tickets. By the way, the video of Zach is priceless.

01:00:59 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 2:

So good.

01:01:00 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 4:

Priceless. You've got to go check out our Instagram and Facebook for this. Are we on live right now, Bianca, too?

01:01:07 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 1:

I think we are. Yeah. Is she there? Bianca, are we live? We are live on Facebook Live.

01:01:14 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 4:

By the way, Zach.

01:01:16 - 01:01:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:01:17 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 4:

Are you a little lost in this thing? Can you see out of it?

01:01:20 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 1:

I can't really see that well. Maybe a little bit. Okay, be careful.

01:01:26 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 3:

You are up on a pole. Please be careful.

01:01:29 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm on a pole. Is there a strip club in Eastern Market?

01:01:34 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 3:

You would think so with the way he's acting. You're a cute Easter Bunny. You could probably make some extra bucks. I bet you could. Be in the Easter Bunny at a mall.

01:01:44 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 4:

All right, you stay right there. I'm keeping your phone up, okay? So put your phone there, and we're going to talk here for a little bit about something, okay?

01:01:52 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay, sounds good.

01:01:53 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 4:

So if I hear somebody say hop, hop, hop, I'll know just to come to you.

01:01:56 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 3:

He's working the ball.

01:01:58 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, stay right there. All right, I want to talk about this. So I went to the mall, and I don't even know if I should say which mall it is because they'll probably be mad at me saying it, but I think all malls are like this. And I went to the mall, and I walked by the little setup that they have for the Easter Bunny pictures. The garden. Which, by the way, the Easter Bunny has now gotten to a point where the Easter Bunny is more bougie than Santa Claus is because you've got to do everything through the QR code. You've got to set up appointments. Do you? Yeah.

01:02:24 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 3:

My kids never, they don't have a photo with the Easter Bunny because it's so creepy.

01:02:30 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 4:

You are a good mom. You want to know why? I don't get it. And somebody needs to explain this to me. Explain to me why we as families decided that we took the beauty of Santa Claus and how great and pristine everything was. Oh, it's wonderful. Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, you know, the suit and stuff like that. And we decided to allow our children to sit on the laps of a smelly rodent. Is a bunny a rodent?

01:03:00 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 2:

I don't think a bunny is considered a rodent. I don't think so.

01:03:03 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It's some kind of a... It's a rodent. But it looks like a rodent.

01:03:05 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's a tiny little creature that moves too fast. Rodent. They are not, by the way.

01:03:10 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 4:

And why does the bunny always feel like it's giving you nightmares or something?

01:03:15 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 2:

It's so scary. Now, I've spent a lot of money on therapy in my life, and I'm all for breaking down trauma. But I feel like it is our obligation to pass this specific trauma along to the next generation. Everybody should be scared of the Easter Bunny.

01:03:28 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 4:

So it's out of tradition?

01:03:29 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:03:30 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:03:31 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 2:

And pure just maliciousness.

01:03:32 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 4:

I know your dad was a very good Catholic man. He is. Did your dad also take you to see the Easter Bunny a lot? Like, was that a thing? Or did he make it more religious for you?

01:03:42 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it was religious. Just like Christmas is religious.

01:03:46 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:03:46 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 2:

Christmas is very religious.

01:03:47 - 01:03:50 | Speaker 4:

But he still allowed Santa Claus, though?

01:03:50 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 2:

We allowed Santa Claus, but we couldn't, we, Santa didn't come unless we went to Midnight Mass.

01:03:55 - 01:03:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh. You know what I mean?

01:03:56 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Like, so like. Good for you, Dad. Yeah. Good for you, Dad.

01:03:59 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 4:

What happened to you?

01:03:59 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I don't know.

01:04:00 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 4:

You had such a great life. I did. Seriously.

01:04:03 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 2:

I really make poor decisions regularly.

01:04:05 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 4:

It's just like, Scott, I feel for you, my friend.

01:04:08 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 2:

He tried so hard, but I paid my dues. I paid it.

01:04:11 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 4:

Single dad, did it all on his own, took you to church, and she still turned out. Oh, my gosh. Disappointing. Is the word you were looking for. All right.

01:04:19 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 3:

I follow one of the local malls, well, I follow a lot of the local malls on Instagram, and one of them does have a really cute bunny this year. The Somerset Collection. I'm looking at their video right now. It's like a little old lady, adorable bunny named Hester.

01:04:34 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 4:

No, that's not a thing. You cannot, but you cannot have- Look how cute she is.

01:04:38 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 3:

See, I go sit on her lap.

01:04:39 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 4:

What is that? Is that- My kids, not me. Is that a woke bunny? That is, it's a female bunny? I thought the bunny was a guy. I don't know. I thought it was a male bunny.

01:04:49 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 3:

She's cute.

01:04:50 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:04:51 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 3:

The rest of them so far that I've seen are terrifying.

01:04:54 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know that. Terrifying.

01:04:55 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. I look at the ones from when I was little and my-

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 4:

mom and dad always took us to Southland because we lived downriver. So that was the mall we went to to see the Easter bunny. That bunny was like the it bunny. You know what I mean? Like the

01:05:10 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 3:

psychotic, I don't know, that bunny was scary looking. So the crazy part to me was I've had

01:05:15 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 7:

an innate fear of just rabbits and bunnies from a very small age. My preschool had a bunny in a cage near the front door and my dad had to pick me up and carry me into school every day because this 75 pound it was a doorstop it was so fat and immovable uh it made me cry every single day so i think i've from a young age just been traumatized of easter in general because why would we ever pick bunny why why bunny out of all of the animals why bunny i i don't get it i don't get that and

01:05:45 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 2:

also the other thing too i got a dilemma in my house with the easter bunny i was talking about the easter baskets for adult kids yeah my kids seem to believe that easter is like christmas and you should get gifts for two because Joe was on the phone talking to his mom about stuff that he wants and he was asking his mom to get things for him at Carl's Golf Land for Easter and I'm like that's not Easter's not Christmas we don't buy gifts I mean you don't buy gifts do you for

01:06:09 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 4:

your kids I kind of do I mean if it can fit into the basket really I do it like like nice gifts if it can fit into the basket I'll do it oh uh nothing maybe nothing crazy over the top but

01:06:23 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live. Tell me what your thoughts are on this one. Zach, anybody show up yet? Zach? Say it again. Did anybody show up yet? There's nobody there yet? No.

01:06:34 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 6:

No, we've just had truck drivers, but no one.

01:06:37 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Nobody said hop, hop, hop yet?

01:06:40 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:06:41 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, the first person.

01:06:42 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 6:

I mean, we had a truck driver, but he didn't want the ticket.

01:06:44 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 2:

First, first. Oh. He just stopped by. Okay, he just stopped by. Hi. Was he listening to the show or no?

01:06:50 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 6:

He was listening. Oh, okay. He just wanted to say hi.

01:06:52 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 2:

I give him credit that he doesn't want the contest. I agree. Yeah, good. Cooper, what's going on, Cooper? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:06:59 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 5:

Nothing much. What's up? First time, long time. Hey there, Cooper's on the phone. Cooper's on the phone.

01:07:04 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there you go. Easter Bunny, because Kev's taking Josiah to school right now. What's going on, Cooper?

01:07:10 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, you know, my mom, for 18 years of my life, made me go take my picture with the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.

01:07:16 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh.

01:07:18 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 2:

And? Gosh. Which one made you scary?

01:07:22 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 5:

The Easter bunny's terrified. I have plenty of pictures crying on his lap.

01:07:27 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The Easter bunny, honestly, is a little bit of a form of, I don't know, pedophilia. I don't know why I feel that way. You know what I mean?

01:07:38 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 7:

Because it's an animal that's known for boinking. Is that what it is? That's weird. That is a weird thing to make a representative of the resurrection.

01:07:46 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 2:

Sex of a bunny, like a bunny, right? Yes. Yeah, that's a very good point.

01:07:50 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 7:

That's weird.

01:07:51 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Cooper, I want to look back at some of my old pictures with me on the Easter Bunny's lap.

01:07:54 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 6:

That's hysterical.

01:07:55 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, I think those bunnies are in jail.

01:07:57 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 6:

I think we got someone.

01:07:59 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Okay, hold on. Jamie, I'll be right with you. Go ahead. Let's see what we got here. Hold on.

01:08:04 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 6:

What up? Don't get hit. Don't get hit. She's got to say it. Come on over. All right. I got to hear you say it.

01:08:12 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 5:

Hop, hop, hop. Jamie! Yay! They not like us. They not like us. They not like us.

01:08:19 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Who is that? What's your name? Where are you from? Look at her.

01:08:24 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 5:

What's your name? Where are you from? Niece.

01:08:25 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm from Ferndale. Hey. Yeah, I love her. She's so excited.

01:08:31 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 2:

You got tickets. You're going to see Kendrick and SZA in the pit. You're going to see Kendrick and SZA in the pit.

01:08:39 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 5:

In the pit. In the pit. Let's go.

01:08:43 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to you. hey uh by the way zach is a cute bunny by the way he is a he's a look at him he's there's there's nothing that says pedophile on that come on man no not at all no he's a cute bunny congratulations to you niece from ferndale enjoy the kendrick lamar concert at ford field in june thank you have a great time Hold on. Bunny, get the information, okay? Copy that. All right, we'll copy that. By the way, that's a very military-type bunny right there. Jamie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

01:09:27 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning. Good morning. What's going on? I was shopping this weekend with my 16-year-old son, and we went to Somerset. We live in the Downriver area. So we had been to Somerset, stopped by Oakland, and we were all in Southland Malls. And I don't know why, but they all have the most terrifying bunnies.

01:09:49 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:09:50 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 1:

I've seen. You know what? It doesn't even make sense.

01:09:53 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 2:

They're using the bunny outfits since when we were kids. That's the problem. Yeah. There's no good new bunny outfits except for... Shannon talking about the Rich Somerset one, you know?

01:10:04 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 4:

Totally, but that bunny wasn't cute either.

01:10:06 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:10:07 - 01:10:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she looked cute on Instagram.

01:10:09 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

In person, though. You know, people take, she had filters.

01:10:12 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 4:

There was bunny filters. I want to know what filter she was using.

01:10:16 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Sean? Hi. Hey, Sean.

01:10:22 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 6:

Hello.

01:10:23 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Hi there. How you doing? Hi, Sean.

01:10:26 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how you doing? And I was going to let y'all know that my daughter is 30 years old, and every year she threatens to throw me in a nursing home if I don't have her an Easter basket. Are you serious?

01:10:38 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 4:

As she should.

01:10:40 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not right. No, she's right.

01:10:42 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 4:

That's the rat.

01:10:43 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 2:

I talked about this the other day. 30-year-olds don't get Easter baskets. What do you think about the idea of giving gifts in those baskets?

01:10:51 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 6:

That's what she wants. She wants gifts and everything in her Easter basket. And she says she don't care how old she is. She's still my baby, and she wants to eat the basket.

01:10:59 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 4:

And you do it year after year because you love her so much, don't you?

01:11:02 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 6:

No, I didn't do it last year. I'm tired of the threats.

01:11:07 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 1:

Sean, how does it feel to know you're just as big of a curmudgeon as Mojo is? Thank you. You want to be on that page? Is that the company you want to keep?

01:11:15 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yes. Sean, come on. I love you. What's up, Stacey? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning. Happy Easter. What's going on? hi hi stacy hello am i see are we on delay today stacy are you there stacy i can hear her but she's not here lydia top pick her up and see what's going on juliana

01:11:43 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 7:

what's up julian or julian yeah this is julianne uh first for a little first time short time oh

01:11:50 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 4:

Where did we steal you from?

01:11:54 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 7:

What was that?

01:11:56 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Where did you come from?

01:11:57 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I live in Rochester Hills. I just started listening in the fall.

01:12:01 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 2:

I love it. What did you used to listen to? That's what Shannon was asking about.

01:12:06 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 7:

Oh, what did I used to listen to? Oh, you know what? I had a short commute. Now I have a long commute. So that's why I started listening.

01:12:11 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

Thank God for long commutes. We kind of love that.

01:12:15 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so my kids are now 16, 18, 20, and almost 22 and when they were younger we always um you know had the book fair and then we would put books in their basket um and so now we take them to the book store on sunday morning and they get to pick out a book so that's what we do now and they get to they do an easter egg hunt for one egg with a 50 bill in it so we have four eggs that are hidden very very different i was gonna

01:12:40 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 2:

say at first i was gonna say if you just do the books if i did that for my kids that last call i was talking about the nursing home my kids would just kill me my kids yeah i would be dead one of

01:12:48 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 7:

my kids gets um what is it legos like a lego box or something and then we do it yeah i like

01:12:54 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 4:

i do little stuff like that little legos pajama pants smith's got some flip like it's stuff like that it's not crazy but it's not just candy the 50 dollars though sounds good though what's up

01:13:04 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 5:

jacklyn hi hi how are you guys good morning good morning what's going on so if you want to talk about terrifying someone i run a doggy daycare and i was the easter buddy on tuesday and probably out of the 60 pictures we did at least 45 of them these dogs look absolutely horrified

01:13:26 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 2:

that's when you know how bad it is when when the dogs are fearful of you stacy what's up oh stacy couldn't hear us that's why she uh good morning what's up stacy hi

01:13:42 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 6:

So I had a comment about the bunny. So I also wondered why we use a bunny and also why eggs, because bunnies don't lay eggs, right? Yeah. But so I researched it, and it's about fertility. So Easter kind of coincides with spring and equinox. So it's supposed to bring, like, fertility and good luck for the crops.

01:14:00 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 2:

Did you see that on Wikipedia? Where was that? I didn't know that.

01:14:05 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 6:

I did, like, a religious search because I wanted to know, like, where I came from. And it wasn't about Christianity. I know it was like a Celtic holiday before, and it was like for the spring equinox. It's similar to Christmas.

01:14:16 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Danielle would like to shout out a bunny that she feels actually is not a bad-looking bunny. And where's this bunny at, Danielle?

01:14:25 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So the village of Rochester Hills, the bunny is very cute and friendly and free, and he wears a very handsome velvet purple coat like Hugh Huffner. Oh, I got to look at their Instagram. Chicka Christ.

01:14:39 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 2:

I like those guys. Is that an adult bunny? Are their kids not allowed to be part of that or what?

01:14:44 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I sat with them too. That's funny.

01:14:46 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Hold on. Christy, what's up? Christy, hi.

01:14:49 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Hi, how are you? Long time caller.

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we love you. What's up?

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 7:

I want to say that the Great Lakes Crossing Bunny is where I would take my kids every year.

01:15:00 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 1:

I've never cried, but I have to agree. I'm being forced this year to take my kids to Southland by my mom because she's paying, so you have to close. Well, okay, all right.

01:15:10 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 3:

So she just shouted out the village of Rochester Hills, which is kind of far from downriver, but the bunny is cute and free. Look how cute it is.

01:15:18 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 5:

That is cute. That is a cute one. Hey, can I ask you a question? How much does the bunny pictures cost? Because that's an interesting thing, like what they're charging you for these pictures these days.

01:15:27 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, there's a reservation fee for like $20, but then after that, packages vary depending on what you want. I normally get package A, which is like $60, and then $20 comes off it.

01:15:42 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 5:

Man, what are you going to do with those pictures? I have a lot of family.

01:15:47 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 1:

I have my mom as a 17 kids, and my dad comes from a family of nine, so I have a lot of pictures to hand out.

01:15:53 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 5:

Because the funny thing is, whenever my kids would do sports pictures, I would always say to Chelsea, get the package that's the least amount of pictures because we never do anything with these pictures.

01:16:01 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 3:

I know. $60 is insane. Plus a $20 reservation fee. That's insane.

01:16:05 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 5:

You know what the mall should do? They should say, if you bring us receipts that you shopped for stuff today, you get a free picture with the Easter Bunny. Yeah, that's a great idea. Encourage people just to come and spend some money.

01:16:16 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 4:

01:16:50 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 4:

Let's go.

01:16:51 - 01:16:53 | Unknown:

It's show time.

01:16:53 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 5:

I got a text from Neil over at Carl's Golf Land that said, and Joe is right, he should have golf stuff in his Easter basket. So, Neil is always, by the way, and he shouts out your husband, by the way, Wes.

01:17:06 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 3:

He's on his way there, I think, right now. He's picking up his clubs today from there.

01:17:09 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 5:

He said that he's very excited to set Wes up with some of these new clubs to see a new golfer around town. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. We have a bunch of stuff coming up this hour on the show. if you missed War of the Roses earlier this morning that is up we've got the podcast ready to go the Divorced Neighbor podcast, War of the Roses go check that out if you find yourself just wanting to hear a War of the Roses or we'll have that for you coming up on the second half of the Mojo in the Morning Show Find the FOB coming up and Pay Your Bills kicks off at 9.10 this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show alright, Shannon had something happen to her yesterday when you were at Walmart and you got in line and you got behind somebody that was taking a little bit of time so I got

01:17:57 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 3:

in line behind the sweetest woman who was almost done it I was in a regular line I wasn't in one of the self checkouts so the cash ear was almost done checking her out and this sweet woman in front of me, you could tell she was just having a day. And I say that because I noticed that like here I am scrolling through Instagram, but I'm kind of like watching what's happening in front of me. Every card that she had tried from her wallet was not going through. And I don't know if it was an issue of like the card was getting declined or I heard the cash, the cashier say to her at one point, like, no, we don't have tap on these. So you can't tap. So this woman would like take out another card and try that and it this just like going on and on and on for a couple of minutes and it's not like I was in a hurry so I didn't care but my heart I felt so freaking bad for her as this is happening so I'm thinking to myself all right I'm just gonna you know take a few steps forward and swipe my own card and pay her bill for her so I like take a step over to see what her total was on the screen and it was 172 dollars and 36 cents that's a lot of money and i was like oh god oh god so i'm thinking okay i feel really bad like my heart is going out to her and i'm contemplating this in my head i'm like shannon it is holy week like you should be doing something nice but that's the 180 dollars is a lot of money let me tell you oh my god if i did

01:19:36 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 2:

something nice for her like that i need somebody to do something nice for me like fill up my gas tank when i run out of gas because i'm not going to be able to afford i don't even have close to

01:19:43 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

that you know dollar amount in my own car so i'm going back and forth going back and forth and as i'm contemplating whether or not i should just do it in my head i hear her say out loud this is the My 15th card is the last one that I have in my wallet. Thank you, Jesus. It worked.

01:19:59 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank God.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 1:

went through but otherwise would you have felt bad if you well I got home last night and I'm

01:20:05 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 3:

telling Wes this story and I'm like describing what happened he made me feel even worse than I already felt because he's like I can remember when you know we would go grocery shopping with my mom and I was always the one that she would say Wes honey we don't have enough like you have to go put this back and he's like what if that were oh my god did you feel bad I felt so bad And I'm like, but her card worked. The last card worked, you know. But what would you have done in that situation? That's a lot of money.

01:20:35 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 1:

So I have had that situation happen to me. And had it happen at a Target, same situation. The woman's card wasn't working and she had no other cards. This was multiple. Stuff fell out of her wallet, she said. And she kind of like had this whole story. Oh, my God, I can't believe it. And I looked at her and she seemed like a very nice lady. and she was going through the whole thing and whatever and I did it and it was a decent amount of money it was it was you know close to six figures not over six figures six figures or

01:21:06 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 3:

or uh three figures I guess not six figures close to a hundred six figures yeah I was like

01:21:12 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 1:

Jesus you are I did very generous I have a credit card limit of over six hundred thousand dollars on my credit credit no I would love to go to Target with you I do I got my Amex black card there so i pulled it out no so i did so let me tell you my bad thoughts on this one so i did i did it she was very sweet the lady behind the the target lady was so nice the target lady she got a bunch of uh i guess free gift cards gave me the gift cards from her sale because i paid for it and then used them towards my sale which was cool that was really nice because she had some target gift cards she said how great everything was it was awesome i felt really good i felt like

01:21:50 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 3:

i did a good deed nice lady had now you're making me feel bad i walked out my husband no no no wait

01:21:55 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 1:

i walked out into the parking lot i'm pushing my cart and i'm thinking to myself i'm going to heaven i don't care what any listener says about me and i'm pushing the cart to the thing and all of a sudden this car drives by waves and says thank you and the woman's in a freaking mercedes and i am driving my tahoe my chevy tahoe which is a nice car but it ain't a mercedes-benz still a nice thing and i'm thinking to myself i am a sap i am whatever but i i have the means i was able to do it but i will say this to west i think west experiencing that and as kids and stuff like that you know we we were blessed my dad you know did well but i went off on my own when I was young and I didn't have much and I lived paycheck to paycheck. Chelsea and I, when we first started off, same situation, we lived paycheck to paycheck. I will tell you, I agree with Wes on this, but I also say that you at least made the attempt and thank God her card worked.

01:22:53 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 3:

I didn't, I wouldn't even give myself that much. I didn't make an attempt. I thought in my head, oh, you need to pay her bill. And then when I saw the total, I was like, but do I?

01:23:04 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 1:

No, I think that's nice.

01:23:06 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 3:

That's a lot of money. By the way. I think it's one thing if it's like $40. But now I feel really easy to go. Yeah. Let me help you out. $200 is a lot of money.

01:23:14 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 1:

It is a lot of money.

01:23:15 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 3:

40 bucks. I would have no question, like really quickly been like, I've got you. Right.

01:23:19 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Ashley, what's up?

01:23:21 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. So right before Christmas, I'm a teacher. So my son and I went to do little like gift bags for all my students. So we're at Target and the woman in front of us, she had a little girl with her and little girls eating an apple. She had a couple of boxes of diapers, some wipes, a bunch of stuff. same kind of thing as shannon was saying her card was kept declining kept declining kept declining so my son is eight and he said mom let's get it and how do you say no to your child right trying to do something amazing yeah so we put our cart we put our cart away and we bought her stuff and it was just about 120 dollars wow good for you by the way and that's a lot of money

01:23:56 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 1:

yeah you know what though that's that's very sweet and i by the way don't ever bring my kids with me because they always want me to to be feeding the homeless but also props to you for

01:24:06 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 3:

You're demonstrating that lesson for your kids to see.

01:24:09 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 1:

That was amazing. Thank you.

01:24:11 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 3:

It's one thing to tell kids to do that, but to actually do it is another.

01:24:15 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 1:

Did you tell your son now he's not going to eat this weekend? Oh, my God.

01:24:21 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 2:

No. His concept was, well, we'll just have Dad come back and buy all of our cart with his credit card. I'm like, oh, yeah. You don't realize it's the same thing. That's awesome.

01:24:32 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 1:

This, by the way, might be the greatest text of them all. 517 is she has 15 credit cards give that lady 180 dollars and tell her this is an only one-time deal and then teach her fiscal responsibility yeah but you know i'm not exaggerating that by

01:24:48 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

the way because she said it herself it's the 15th card like she made a big deal about that but were they like uh i was gonna say you never know if they're visa cards and they just didn't have enough balance to cover it or i don't know yeah i'm Teri-

01:25:00 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 4:

purified and embarrassed in that situation. I try to make a joke out of it and make it seem ridiculous too, you know? Like I, I have had an issue specifically at Walmart. They don't have tap to pay. So you can't use Apple pay drives me nutty. It does for me as well. And I have, I have one card and my card is crap. It never works. I use Apple pay for everything because my card, the chip never reads or it never scans. And that doesn't mean that there's not money in there. The card just never works. And to have that happen at like a place like Walmart, one time my brother had to buy my stuff and i was like i'll then mow you the money like my card is not working

01:25:33 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 3:

what's up ross how you doing hey how's it going good ross you you did a good deed for a bunch of

01:25:40 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 6:

nuns i heard is that right yeah so one time when i was in college i was driving through a tim horn drive-through i see a group of nuns behind me and they're just like scrambling to find anything out their wallet and i was like you know what let me just buy their order um basically basically i get to the front of the line um i'm like hey let me pay for the people behind me it was a hundred fifty dollars how many nuns were in that car oh my god what they were they buying it's important

01:26:10 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 3:

there are three nuns they bought the entire convent yeah they were bringing back some

01:26:16 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 6:

some jugs of coffee i actually knew one of them because they were my uh nun when i was doing communion so i felt even worse so i was like you know what let me pay it so long story short don't

01:26:28 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 1:

get in front of a group of nuns call us find us on social media at mojo in the morning it's not hard to reach out to us and if you really loved us you join the show now this is mojo in the

01:26:42 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 3:

morning oh my god that is so funny hold on grace says that she was a scammer though grace why do

01:26:48 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 2:

you say she's a scammer so because you know how like when people are scammers they have like fake cars of like other people's cars and they just swipe it to see which one goes through

01:26:59 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 4:

that's interesting i never thought about that or maybe she's a struggling mom maybe she like we see that we see the worst in people we need to see better in them i am god i'm what's wrong is this person i've always been this person who is this person i've literally always been this person is it easter it's look what's come out of her literally the holy spirit the holy spirit

01:27:22 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 3:

nothing's changed man oh man always been like this wow megan i like this megan

01:27:30 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 4:

no israel wait hold on i gotta do something bad what's up israel how's it going good what's going

01:27:37 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 5:

on no yeah i don't it depends on the store you can't just pay for someone with that target like you what happened to you no you can go shop at somewhere cheaper for sure no so the woman doesn't

01:27:49 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 3:

have a card at a target like what happened to me you're saying only rich people shop at target

01:27:54 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 5:

not only rich people but i mean you got the means to shop at target go to all the years

01:27:59 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 4:

talking for privilege not everybody has cars gas money or access uh listen i i will say this to

01:28:08 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 3:

you i look at the i look at the person and if the person honestly looks like they are genuinely stressed i will say you know what i want to take some stress out of their lives and i believe that when you're giving to somebody you're not giving to get something back to yourself but you are getting something back and that is the peace of mind that you did something nice and i think actually your attempt should give you something the fact that you at least have that because nine out of ten people would have said damn it i'm being late hurry up move her out of the way that would have been their initial thing.

01:28:40 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely right. He's so right it's not even funny. Again, what happened

01:28:43 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 3:

to Megan? She's actually pretty with me. I gotta get out of here. I'm not used to this.

01:28:48 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 6:

I know. Shut up, both of you. I feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Shut up,

01:28:51 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 4:

both of you. You act like I walk around like, how can I slash people's tires today and ruin the day?

01:28:58 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Welcome to the J Towers in the morning show here. Waka waka. Alright. Okay, it's Mojo in the morning. I got something for you guys. I want to talk about this. All right. So Chelsea and I are working out. We're both on a fitness journey. Actually, we don't work out together. We've decided that that cannot be the couple that we become. We cannot be the couple that works out together.

01:29:23 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 2:

That's wrong with that.

01:29:23 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 3:

Because couples that work out together are like you and Wes, and we do not want to be like that. We want to be Tom and Chelsea.

01:29:29 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 2:

Only sometimes do we work out together.

01:29:31 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

But we do work out with the same guy. So we have the same guy that works out with us. Guy's great. His name is Tom. I love this guy. Will you call Chelsea, please, for this? So Chelsea tells me about working out with Tom all the time, which I love Tom. Like, first off, let me say this to you. Most trainers I'd never trust. This guy, nicest guy ever, I trust the guy. He's the most family guy I've ever met in my life. I've never met anybody that talks about their kids like he does. Disgusting.

01:30:00 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 1:

disgusting weight falls off of me from just the disgust of how much he loves his wife and his children his two children so chelsea tells me the story about how she went her workout went and she goes oh my god you got to hear this story too tom tom said that when i was working out the other day she said this guy came in right after me and the guy who was working out with tom right afterwards is a 90 year old man oh my god for him 90 year old man comes in to work out with with tom right after chelsea's workout and asks tom who chelsea was because he found her hot chelsea are you there i'm here chelsea i want to find this 90 year old guy and beat the snot out of that son of a bitch come on that's a compliment he's 90 no what was exactly the words that he said to tom i want to

01:30:50 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 3:

know he said um who was that that you were training before me and he said oh her name is chelsea and he said um oh i i remember what he i don't know if he said she was nice or i don't know and tom said well you know she's happily me oh he's he said how old is she and tom said she's 50 he's like well that's great and he said um she's happily married and he said well that's even better what no way but he's a 90 probably can't fully see probably like we're just in a very sweet he's 90 you can't fully see that's the perfect man well i agree so he is now my boyfriend

01:31:43 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 1:

i have a 90 year old boyfriend chelsea listen here's the deal i bet he's rich and if he's rich i'm fine with it like i am fine with this thing because at least i think i i can make it longer than him although i don't know i'm a mess right now these days so i figure i could at least outlive the 90 year old guy i mean have you ever i don't know have you ever thought of us bringing a third

01:32:06 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 3:

in and having a third be a 90 year old man i we've talked about this before i don't even i'm not into

01:32:13 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 1:

two thumbs um should i should i be offended that a man at the gym hit on my wife basically i know he didn't directly hit on her 90 and he didn't hit on me you watch out for 90 year olds you know

01:32:27 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 4:

what nine year olds do i'm telling you they're spicy nowadays you remember maybe the 90 viagra

01:32:32 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 1:

has made 90 year olds uh honestly get bigger boners than than guys that are in their 30s so

01:32:38 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 5:

in lucas county they had to do a big billboard campaign on syphilis and old people let's talk

01:32:43 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 1:

about this yeah let's talk about i want to know about old people uh you know uh hair bees tell me tell me about tell me about hair bees um i want to know about stuff like this anybody know this stuff watch out for chelsea first he says something like that to you the next thing i know he's getting double or couples workouts with you since you and i won't do couples workouts Shannon by the way I just said to Shannon I said you and I would refuse to work out together with with each other would you of course you know this Wes and her work out with each other

01:33:17 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 4:

well no that's not what you said you were like at first you know because those couples that work out together you know about them I'm telling

01:33:25 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 3:

couples that work out together stay together that's it I'm not trying to do that

01:33:29 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 1:

yeah

01:33:30 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 3:

alright I'm trying to find myself a new man And I found it.

01:33:38 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 1:

90 years old. 90.

01:33:39 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 3:

Short-term commitments, Charles. Short-term.

01:33:42 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 4:

That's what it's all about.

01:33:44 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 1:

I'll talk to you later. I love you. Okay, love you, bye.

01:33:46 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys remember I told you this story? This was like a year ago about the guy, the little old man that I held the door for at the post office, and he was like, God bless you. You did something nice for somebody today. I was with my kids, and then he asked me to go get a drink with him at Market in Birmingham. Yeah. I'm like, who are you? Did you say yes?

01:34:02 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No! I bet you that guy lives in the Willits, man. He's got money.

01:34:07 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, what is happening?

01:34:08 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Jessica? How you doing?

01:34:11 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. How's your morning going? It's fantastic.

01:34:14 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 1:

What's happening? What are you calling for?

01:34:17 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

So you are so right when it comes to the 90-year-old men and the Viagra and the bigger boners that they have. Because I go to a nudie camp. I won't mention the name of it. Northern Michigan. and there is this couple and i swear this guy is 80 90 years old with his wife and they come there and he sits by the pool the whole time with that thing just rising and he takes granny into the woods more times than anybody got that are you serious he actually he he brings oh my god that's amazing i swear we've caught him on the trails more times than we can count Oh.

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness.

01:35:01 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 1:

That is insane.

01:35:03 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 4:

And it's still effective at that age.

01:35:08 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 1:

By the way, can you imagine, and this is something interesting, there's guys listening to this show that I know are 40 years old and probably wish that they had a 90-year-old boner right now. What's going on, Alex? How you doing?

01:35:22 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys?

01:35:23 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 1:

We're fantastic. What's going on?

01:35:26 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 4:

Good. First time on time. Hey. Alex on the phone.

01:35:32 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 1:

What's up?

01:35:34 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 4:

So my mom, she's 75 this year. She is in the dating pool, which is a hilarious thing to see. And she recently went on a date with a gentleman who was in his 80s. And the first thing he told her about was his penile implant and everything that he could do with that. And that was pretty much his whole structure of his date was talking about that and all the things he wanted to do with that. And my mom was like, I got to go.

01:36:01 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 1:

By the way, it would be scary if your mom's now saying, this is your new father. That would be very scary.

01:36:06 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 4:

Right, that's my stepdad, actually.

01:36:08 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Penile implants. What do you think goes into a penile implant?

01:36:12 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 2:

I did not know that that was a real thing. I know that sounds dumb, but I thought that was just.

01:36:16 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 4:

You change them all the time. That's cool. They have ones that you can, like, self-internate. Apparently, all they have to do is push a button, and it just, like, lifts.

01:36:23 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, I would love that.

01:36:25 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:36:25 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 1:

I would love.

01:36:26 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 3:

that would be amazing we heard no it's for people who have had like injuries and lost or paralyzed

01:36:32 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 1:

wouldn't you love though to push a button have your boobs grow or be smaller it's great like

01:36:37 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

you just have we're giving healthy relationships back to people this is a good thing we love technology kayla what's up it's mojo in the morning hi yes um my grandpa is about 80 years old, and he has not one, but, like, multiple strippers as girlfriends. Get it.

01:36:58 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 2:

Is he giving him money, or what's going on there? Duh. I mean, outside of, like, the strip club kind of money?

01:37:06 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 3:

I assume he just gives them money at the strip club. Like, do they come to Easter dinner?

01:37:12 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:37:14 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so.

01:37:16 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 1:

Really? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:37:18 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 3:

They meet up, like, outside of the strip club, so.

01:37:22 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Do they ever get introduced to you guys? Do they ever become, like, part of the family?

01:37:28 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

I met one of them.

01:37:30 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my. And how did he introduce you to them? Like, what did he say? This is so-and-so, and she's a stripper, or what?

01:37:36 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

This is my girlfriend, and after she left, we were all like, oh, like, how did you meet her? You know, she's, like, 50 years younger than you. and he's like, oh, at the strip club.

01:37:49 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my Lord.

01:37:50 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 3:

I was like, oh, thank you so much for that.

01:37:53 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that wonderful? Well, you know what? Shout out to Grandpa. He's got stripper girlfriends in multiples of them.

01:38:01 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 4:

Add the Mojo in the Morning show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show.

01:38:08 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. We got the Dirty coming up here in a second. What's the big trending story of this hour?

01:38:12 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 2:

I mean, this Bieber, like his team is now trying to squash some of the rumors that are going around about him, including the one that he's like millions and millions of dollars in debt. So we'll catch you up on all of that coming up.

01:38:24 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 1:

I want to mention that Mojo Gives You a Baby is back. And our friends over at IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center is giving you a chance to win IVF for free. You can enter now by going to our websites or just search the Mojo gives you a baby promo up on Instagram or Facebook. Click on it. All the details are right there. Mojo in the morning dot com. Mojo in the morning dot com. We have been getting great entries in, but we need more. And what we want is we want to try to make your family have that feeling of completion that you guys feel like, oh, good. We want to help you start your family. Restart your family. Yeah. Although I got to tell you, some of the families that have won in the past, like the families that have had, you know, twins over this, we've had a lot of multiples.

01:39:13 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 2:

We've actually had a ton of twins. Yeah.

01:39:15 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe, like, they go into it going, all I want is to have one child. The next thing you know, it's like, Mojo, you don't understand how many diapers we have to buy now. Yeah. So it gets pretty crazy. And then the other thing is our More Mojo podcast has sold out. So the podcast sold out already. We're doing a podcast live at the Imagine in Royal Oak On Friday, May the 16th Tickets were actually not priced, you know, that high So I don't think that, you know, what we did was, you know, crazy I mean, we accomplished the goal of selling out a theater It was cool that we sold it out in five days But it's just a donation for people that are big fans of the show To go to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish It's not to cover any cost

01:40:00 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 4:

or anything like that, which is nice. Yesterday, I didn't tell you this one, Lydia, but yesterday I had Kim Blackham come to me, the director of sales, with an idea. And I said, first off, I nixed it right off the bat, so don't get salty on this, and said, what are your thoughts about simulcasting this to a next theater of people that they could come in and see it? And I said, we can't do that. and she's like well you know it'd be an opportunity if you wanted to to sell more and raise more money for breaking entering I said but the problem with that is you just took the exclusiveness out for the people that are in that theater like I like the idea and she by the way if anybody's gonna make money it's Kim Blockham's gonna make some money she is the money making machine I mean this is seriously this is why for I don't know how many years I mean gosh it's been what maybe a couple of decades or something like that or a decade and five years that we have had some of the biggest revenue that you know any radio station in town has ever had and um the problem like you know what it would be like it would be like hey i stood in line to get my tickets to go see taylor swift only to find out she added a second show yeah have you ever that happened

01:41:20 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 1:

i wouldn't say second show it would be i got a seat behind the stage well or she opened up more

01:41:28 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 4:

seats yeah that's a great analogy yeah yeah that is a good one but um so so we're we're not doing that we are going to make it exclusive actually lydia brought up another point too and this is something that you know i think after i thought about it for a little bit we were talking about okay well facebook live it lydia's like no yeah because facebook living it takes away from somebody that bought that ticket that night too.

01:41:52 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Now, here's the thing. We will be posting the audio of the podcast after the fact. So if you are not, if you're not going to be in the theater that night, you'll be able to at least hear the whole thing afterwards.

01:42:03 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So, which I think is good too. I have to tell you something. And sometimes we don't do this enough on our show. We move from segment to segment and do our things. Sometimes we need to have like open discussions on the radio with the listeners and get their thoughts on this one. Because if you're one of the, I don't know, there's a few hundred, couple hundred, three hundred, I don't know, people that bought these tickets, and you got your hands on it, you're excited that you got it. I get more excited when I find out that it's going to be a sold out show.

01:42:31 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I agree, but that doesn't change that it's sold out or not, and it's raising money.

01:42:35 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Yeah. For breaking and entering. Yeah.

01:42:38 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 2:

But you can always donate. Any amount of money, anything.

01:42:42 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 3:

And this won't be our last live podcast.

01:42:45 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:42:45 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 3:

We'll always do more.

01:42:47 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, that was the other one, too. Did I tell you that Nick Thomas came to me and said, hey, maybe we should do like four or five of these things a year? I'm telling you, everybody.

01:42:54 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I just had a guest come in here. Yeah, what is happening?

01:42:57 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 4:

Everybody wants to make money.

01:43:00 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why did he go in there? I don't know.

01:43:01 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 4:

Everybody wants to make money but me.

01:43:04 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he's asking me for Advil. That's why.

01:43:07 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 4:

Wait, who's that?

01:43:08 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 3:

Kev.

01:43:09 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Kevin needs. You know what that is? Staying home, being a stay-at-home dad is a headache waiting to happen.

01:43:16 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 1:

For sure. There we go.

01:43:17 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 4:

Kevin got back here already, so he dropped the kids off at the pool.

01:43:23 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 3:

I would honestly take three of those. You got a bad headache? You said we're going to talk about some things live on the air. Here we are. Kevin's popping.

01:43:33 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 4:

I think I used to have like a money-making mind. Like I used to have like one of these, okay, I got an idea, and I would come up with good things. now i'm at a point where i want exclusive low-key like i don't want to go to the wildest crazy like i wouldn't go to fire festival i would or i wouldn't go to and i'm honestly not a person that would go to coachella i want to go to the bar and see like the guy up on stage playing his

01:44:04 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 2:

guitar by himself i am too yeah i love intimate settings but as somebody who didn't watch the

01:44:10 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 1:

coachella live stream and all i want to do uh legally is watch her performance i gotta clarify because i definitely have not seen lady gaga set yet because that would be illegal but i do wish i could pay like a small fee to coachella to stream it yeah you know what i mean like if i could pay five i can't fly i cannot afford to fly out to california get a place to stay afford tickets for the weekend all of that but if i could pay five dollars and be able to watch

01:44:36 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 4:

online oh i went in a heartbeat i never got the people that like to watch concerts on on tv why not like i think watching a concert on tv is you know i do all the time although era's tour in the

01:44:47 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 1:

theater was pretty cool yeah beyonce's homecoming on netflix is my go-to at the gym if you can't be

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

there and you love the artist wouldn't you want to just experience it in any way imagine never It makes me jealous.

01:44:59 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 1:

Imagine. never seen queen's live aid performance uh i don't think i ever saw it except for in the movie you've never seen queen's live the actual real one i think i only saw it because of the movie or the documentary or something like that wow i don't know but you still you you got to see it even if it was part of the documentary yeah and it was okay what about michael jackson michael

01:45:18 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 2:

jackson i used to like watching michael jackson on the amas and you know vmas and things like that like i don't mind award show performances but real quick i can't let me tie this all up because we're kind of now we're really veering off uh our our schedule you dropped off josiah at school and you got here fast which actually was not bad he he left right after the dirty at 7 40 how was josiah with having dad drop him off because my kids used to get excited if i had a day off and

01:45:46 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 3:

i would go because it wasn't a norm he had the biggest smile on his face this is the first time i've been able to do this this entire year i think outside of maybe one other time but yeah Josiah and I have a fantastic relationship. That's my bro. We got great vibes. So the vibes are great. And I be telling stories. I'm a great freestyle storyteller.

01:46:05 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah? Yeah, like on the way to school. Are they all true or no?

01:46:08 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 3:

No, they all make-believe. It's all fiction, but it's all fun. So I got to do one of those.

01:46:13 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 2:

My brother Tony is the master of the fake stories. Like, he would tell the kids stories sometimes, like my, you know, nephews and nieces and my kids. And he would tell them stories, and I'd be like, that is the biggest bunch of. And Chelsea would look at me and go, don't think you do that on the radio every single morning, probably. All right. It is time now to find the fob. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Find the fob. Win a brand-new Chevy from Moran Chevrolet. 844-665-6548. Qualify now.

Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30.

01:46:50 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 2:

Has Easter already happened? Man, I feel like we need to start the weekend already. You said that tomorrow we're supposed to have a close to 80-degree day?

01:46:59 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

77 is going to be the official high in Detroit, and they're saying clouds. They're not ruling out a chance of showers like in the evening, but, I mean, 80 degrees, I'll take it.

01:47:09 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 2:

What is it?

01:47:10 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Easter is kind of meh. It's cloudy and 52. Still not terrible. It's not terrible.

01:47:14 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 2:

Easter used to be my mom's favorite holiday because she would always come out in some big, beautiful new dress that she would find, and then she'd wear hats to church. My mom would make us wear hats. That's so great.

01:47:24 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember the frilly little socks? Oh, the white ruffly.

01:47:28 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 3:

My ankles itch.

01:47:29 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 1:

So Justin Bieber's team is trying to clear up a lot of crap that is going around about him. And the latest thing is this rumor that he is millions of dollars in debt. And it's all because of the 2023 cancellation of his Justice World Tour. And if you remember why he canceled the end of that tour, it's because he was dealing with a health issue. He had that Ramsey Hunt syndrome, so his face was like essentially paralyzed, couldn't sing. But his reps telling me, one of his reps telling me that this is just clickbait. It is not true, plain and simple. This is someone who started this who is pissed that they no longer work with Justin. It's unnecessary. But the rumor was that like the cancellation of the tour triggered a series of financial consequences that are still plaguing him today. And people said he owed the promoter, which I think was AEG, like $20 million because he canceled that tour. The whole thing is not true.

01:48:25 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting you bring up the fact that it could potentially be somebody he used to work with. Because last week you did the story that that Drew company that he was affiliated with, he split with them.

01:48:35 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yes. They're all turning their backs on him. So the Drew House brand to me, which is something he co-created with a guy, Ryan Good, who at one point was one of his closest, closest buddies. You know him. I know him real well. Yeah. Yes.

01:48:49 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 3:

Ryan good?

01:48:49 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Now he's bad. Not really. I mean, I haven't talked to him in a long time, but we, yes. Anyway, so.

01:48:55 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 2:

But you said that Ryan, though, is a good guy. Is he very good?

01:48:58 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes, absolutely. And that, to me, feels very personal. That doesn't feel like there's something personal that happened there that doesn't feel like a financial thing.

01:49:05 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:49:06 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

At least that started it. So, I don't know. There's a lot of crap going around about Justin right now. Lil Nas X sharing an update about what's going on with the partial paralysis in his face. And in fact, people are saying it could be the same thing that Justin Bieber had, this Ramsey-Hunt syndrome. So he was taken to the hospital, if you missed us talking about this, earlier in the week because he totally lost control of the entire right side of his face. In an update to his Instagram stories that he posted yesterday, he said he's regained some movement in the right side of his face, specifically the lower half. But his left eye, it's funny, it affected the right side of his face. His left eye was also infected. affected his left eye still needs to play catch up but he can give a genuine smile so a lot of progress from two days ago right catch up he needs to catch up what do you mean

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Yo, I need to catch up to the other one. That's crazy.

01:50:04 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 2:

But I mean it in a way of, like, this is not moving at all, and this is starting to move.

01:50:08 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 3:

And I don't get it exactly how you made it. I know exactly what you mean. I don't get it. It sounds crazy. Yeah, it's like if you see a girl with a saggy boob, and be like, that one needs to catch up to the other one.

01:50:18 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that was not my intention to say that. I didn't mean it in a mean way. But so people are saying it's either Ramsey Hunt or maybe Bell's Palsy. Wait a second. Which Isaiah Thomas has. Former Christian Isaiah Thomas has it? Isaiah Thomas has it?

01:50:29 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 4:

I know some of those positives. Wait, so you're saying, so Justin Bieber had it, Lil Nas X has it?

01:50:34 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 2:

Me, I mean, that's what people are going, what could it be, what could it be?

01:50:37 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 4:

It's in that Diddy lotion.

01:50:39 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. Wait, was Lil Nas X ever with Diddy? No, I'm just chirping. Oh, boy.

01:50:44 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 2:

We now know it took the life of actress Michelle Trachtenberg, and it was complications from diabetes. The 39-year-old actress found dead in her apartment in New York City back in February. Her family did not want an autopsy, So we are getting this cause of death from toxicology test results, not an official autopsy. And real quick, she is back, baby. I mean, Lindsay Lohan had that movie on Netflix over the holiday and everybody was commenting on how gorgeous she looked. I mean, whatever she had done, I hope one day she spills details. But she is now, we're getting worried, she's going to star in and executive produce a new drama series that we're going to be able to watch on Hulu based on the book Count My Lies. If you've read that one, it's about a lying nanny. And it's going to be Lindsay Lohan in the starring role. For all of today's Dirty, catch up by listening to the podcast. 01:51:57 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 5:

That's what you want. I never win. Yeah, I never win anything.

01:52:03 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 4:

So can I tell you something? I have no idea what kind of car this is going to be. I do know that they're not telling any of us because they don't want us to have any shenanigans take place. But when I did get a chance to meet with the owner of the dealership, Brian Moran, and they were talking about this contest, he didn't rule out that a Tahoe could be a possibility, which amazes me because that's an expensive vehicle to give away. Like it was.

01:52:33 - 01:52:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I don't care. Just look at our four doors.

01:52:36 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 4:

And that's interesting because, you know, This could be any Chevy on the lot that you could be winning from our friends over at Moran.

01:52:43 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 2:

It could be a truck, sedan, convertible, SUV.

01:52:46 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 4:

Allison, you're in, and you're going to be making that drive from Grand Rapids on May the 2nd, okay? Thank you so much. Have a great morning. You too. Thank you. All right. Let me tease real quick what we got coming up here next besides me going potty because I haven't done it in over an hour, and I usually have to because I drink a ton of coffee. Coming up next here on the Mojo in the Morning show, Kev says that finding time to date has been really tough, especially with being a dad. How do single parents date? Coming up next.

01:53:20 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 1:

01:53:27 - 01:53:28 | Unknown:

What are we whispering about?

01:53:28 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 2:

Sorry, somebody in here has stinky feet? It might be. Stinky feet. I literally went, is it me? And she went, maybe. What was it?

01:53:36 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 4:

How did we all of a sudden Determine that it was the feet that is stinky

01:53:42 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 2:

Because you know that smell of like yucky socks

01:53:44 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh really Somebody got their shoes off Shannon not wearing socks

01:53:49 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm not wearing socks but I'm wearing slides

01:53:51 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh okay When you go sockless Do you have to put like powder in your shoes Or like how do you prevent it from like sweating I mean you can

01:54:00 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god thank you

01:54:03 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

Can you see how she threw her leg Can you put it behind your head? I'm used to. Try it real quick. You're better with your right leg. God dang. Oh, my God.

01:54:12 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 5:

You guys, I was captain of the varsity gymnastics teams in high school. I don't mean to brag, but we were the worst team in the league.

01:54:18 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 4:

You got to complete it. Oh, my God. Don't do that. You're going to hurt me.

01:54:22 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 5:

I used to be able to do both at the same time.

01:54:24 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 4:

And she's single.

01:54:24 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 5:

Man, I'm not going to lie. That's a vaginal tear waiting to happen. Dude, I'm not going to lie. I feel really proud of that. I feel really proud of that. Do you have that? Can you do both? Oh, my God.

01:54:35 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 3:

If you can do both, I will give you $50.

01:54:39 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, damn. Hold on. I'm going to take a gas right there. Are we at Facebook Live? Hold on, still. I can do it. Hold on. I might have to sit on the floor because I'm not. All right, do what you got to do.

01:54:49 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

$50 on the line. Hold on. You can move the cameras down. Oh, my God. She got one. Okay, I don't think you can get that one. All right, leave it there. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Oh, my God.

01:55:00 - 01:55:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, that was awesome. That's close. Wow. That was unbelievable. Hold on, hold on. I can do this.

01:55:04 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 4:

You get 25 for being close. You know what it looks like? Did you ever see a legless person? It's just like they're...

01:55:11 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 1:

Get careful.

01:55:11 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 4:

That was amazing. That's crazy.

01:55:13 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's going to hurt later. That's really going to hurt.

01:55:17 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to be honest with you. I'm in so much pain right now. That gave me more pain just watching it. But you were so easily able to do it.

01:55:26 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 1:

I need that video. Now I'm like, can I do a cartwheel? Can I do a back bed? What other skills do I have? Splits.

01:55:33 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That came out of nowhere. Did she just fall?

01:55:36 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 2:

No, she just did the splits out of nowhere. She did the splits out of literally nowhere.

01:55:41 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 3:

I never knew you could do that. That was crazy.

01:55:44 - 01:55:45 | Unknown:

Hold on, hold on, hold on.

01:55:45 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 2:

What is going on? Now, go up and down.

01:55:47 - 01:55:48 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:55:48 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 2:

This is like Circus Act Thursday.

01:55:50 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

Other side, other side, other side. That's crazy.

01:55:54 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 2:

That was so fast.

01:55:56 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

I did just drop down to do that. That was so fast. I was like, I usually do this when I'm drunk. I'm sober.

01:56:02 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 4:

When you were in school, were you the girl that did the splits during the competitions?

01:56:06 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 1:

But I was the kid that could, like, flip and stuff, too. Really? So I would be, like, in recess and be like, what's that?

01:56:13 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 3:

Why don't you do a jean?

01:56:14 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:56:15 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 4:

Can you still climb a tree? Because somebody was asking me the other day as an adult, a grown-ass adult, hey, when's the last time you climbed a tree? I'm like, climb a tree? Can you go to walls and, like, rock walls and things like that? Yeah. Jeez. I have no idea. I mean, you could do that. We got to go to the place down the street. I would love to do that. I think stuff like that.

01:56:33 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't do things like that on the regular, but like on a one-off, that would be fun. That's amazing. Wow.

01:56:38 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 1:

I know a lot of breath. I'm not going to lie. I drive down to this place and I'm like, whew.

01:56:42 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 4:

That was impressive.

01:56:43 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:56:44 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 4:

That is unbelievable.

01:56:45 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:56:46 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 4:

Now, Mojo, you try. Yeah. By the way, the pain that I'm in after falling down those stairs right now, I can barely sit in this chair right now. That's how bad it is, bud. You need some morphine. Everybody wants me to start taking drugs, and I'm convinced that they want them so that they can get my leftovers, and I'm not doing it. All right, Mojo in the Morning. Kev, I never know if you're dating or not dating. You never call it dating. You call when girls just kind of hang out with you that you're just hanging out.

01:57:14 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:57:14 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 4:

But we're talking officially dating. Kev says that he needs a little help right now because as a single dad, single-parent dad, how often do you have Josiah?

01:57:26 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 3:

Man, terrible schedule. Right now, I pick him up after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays because he has an art program that lets out later. And the days I don't have a Pistons game because I have to be at the arena when he gets out. If all things are great in the world, I get to see him most times during the day or the week, but I for sure get him after school on Fridays and then take him back to his mom Sunday night so she can take him to school Monday morning.

01:57:52 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. It's all over the place, basically. So it's, how do you, how do you fit? I don't know how you fit anything into anything. Like you do work multiple jobs, you work multiple jobs, but, and then you have Josiah in, you know, I don't know how you would date. So you're trying to figure out how to, how do single parents date?

01:58:13 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 3:

I literally have no idea, especially like I'm the type of person. I'm not just a hit it and quitted type of person. I have to spend time with you. I like to get to know you. I like to have conversation. I like to be intentional.

01:58:25 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:58:25 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 3:

And that requires time. But when you have all these things going and regardless of what's going on in my life professionally, you know, I'm with Joe most of the time. Joe is my number one priority. Yeah. Like, that's what it is. But I have no idea how to find that time to spend with somebody else to show them that I actually care. Because what will happen is, you know, you don't want to spend time. You always say you can't do anything. I'm not a priority. I'm going to just go be somebody else's priority. or I'm going to do my own thing. And then I've had situations where the woman.

01:58:56 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 4:

These are the girls that say that to you?

01:58:58 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, or the behavior will just show. But I've also been on the other end where I've dated women who have had children or multiple children, and they haven't prioritized their children and have prioritized me, and I don't like how that makes me feel or how that makes them look.

01:59:13 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, I would red flag those women right off the bat. But if they're really into you and they want to show you that. If a parent, unless they have full custody, if they have full custody of their kid, then yeah, that's fine. But if a parent that only goes every other week with their kid is going and getting babysitters so they can go on dates, I think that there's something wrong. But there'll be people that will be pissed at me for saying that. Emily, what's going on?

01:59:38 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going?

01:59:40 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 4:

It's going good. Kev's saying that it's tough to single parent date. Is it the case for you?

01:59:46 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, I, first of all, the idea of dating exhausts me, but I do know that when I get back out there, I'll play around when my boys are with me.

02:00:00 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 5:

their dad and so they're they're with him every other weekend so i guess my situation's a bit different because i have a lot more free time but i would never do that i would never get a

02:00:11 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 3:

babysitter while i had the kids do you find that the guys are okay with only seeing you on certain times because of you have the your kids yeah and if they're not well then goodbye to them i like that i like that you're prioritizing that uh that's good i'm shocked though that you don't see more guys though that are like not into that because men are like children when they want something they want it now you know they want all of it they want all

02:00:41 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

of you and all of your time and all of your attention and that has never come to play where

02:00:45 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 5:

a guy has said that to you um well like i said i i haven't really gotten back out there yet but But hopefully that doesn't happen.

02:00:54 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I hope it doesn't happen for you either. Portia, what's up? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

02:00:59 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

02:01:00 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:01:02 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 7:

I just wanted to say, please stop calling Kevin a single dad. He's not a single dad. A single dad would be someone who, or a single parent, would be someone who's raising their child alone.

02:01:15 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 1:

He is single and he's a dad.

02:01:17 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 3:

Listen, let me say this. The reason I'm doing it is so that people kind of get an idea that Kev is not in a relationship right now.

02:01:22 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:01:23 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 3:

And he's also a parent.

02:01:25 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 7:

There's a column there. The term is just like, ugh, he's not a single parent.

02:01:30 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 3:

I get it. Well, I also said Josiah's mom, and I talk about that.

02:01:36 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, just to clarify, his mom is very involved.

02:01:39 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely, his mom is.

02:01:40 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

Now, what else you got?

02:01:42 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 3:

Do you have any advice for me? That was it. That was it, okay.

02:01:45 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 2:

All right, for sure. Well, appreciate it. We got a chance to clarify. You're absolutely right. His mom is very involved. I'm not doing this alone.

02:01:51 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 3:

Actually, you guys co-parent better than most couples. Now we do. And that are full in relationships still. It took us a while to get there, but we're glad we are where we are. Angela, what's up?

02:02:03 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. It's Rump Rose from yesterday. Hey, what's going on? Hi, guys. Hey, Kev, we've met before, and we've actually talked a little bit at the basketball game, but I feel you. I'm a single mom, but it is just me. no dad um he's incarcerated he has been gone i've been single for about two and a half years um and it was a 17 year pretty bad relationship that we were in so i really never dated um so i was a little worried um tried a couple dating apps and deleted them pretty quick because there's not not the greatest out there and it's a little scary when you're my age and you've never dated before so i really just my kids have always been my priority of course and i just don't understand people who cannot realize that or do that um so i kind of just i i haven't really attempted to do anything with dating and i don't know where to start yeah this is a tough one for

02:03:01 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 2:

you too uh advice i mean i'm looking for advice too how old are your children well my daughter

02:03:08 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 6:

is actually 19 she's finishing up at her first year at wayne state but my son is 10 um so it's you know just me and him she's coming back home obviously for the summer and she's gonna live at home from here on out so it'll be us three again but it's like you know what do i i'm not gonna get a babysitter to go out on a date with a stranger and leave my son home yeah uh what was

02:03:31 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 4:

your question i was gonna ask if you were trying to date other single parents or if you're trying to date non-parents it wouldn't matter to me again because i can't imagine other single parents having a problem with that but i could understand why single people would if they don't want to

02:03:45 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 3:

sign up exactly you know what i think would be interesting with you and i this came into play when would you tell the people that you're dating about your incarcerated ex because of to me i would that i wonder if that would be a something that would freak those guys out

02:03:59 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 6:

yeah no i wouldn't throw that out there however it is no contact he's been gone for quite some time and there is you know no family on that side either that i thankfully have to deal with or worry about so but yeah i mean not right away i don't think i'd blurt out and say that yeah

02:04:16 - 02:04:25 | Speaker 2:

people be going to jail bro just because you've been to jail don't mean like you got this stigma about you it's people out here that haven't been incarcerated that's done a lot of crazy things

02:04:25 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 3:

also i i understand that but i would i think that right away though as a guy you'd be like oh jesus what the hell you know happened like that if it's something if you didn't know anybody that was

02:04:33 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 2:

incarcerated like your tax guy incarcerated don't stop you from getting your time no my friend's

02:04:37 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 3:

tax yeah paul paul clem's tax what's going on carrie how you doing hey i'm great how are you guys good we're talking about kev and uh wanting to get out and date but he's got to do that around Josiah's schedule?

02:04:56 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yes. First of all, I'd like to say long time, fifth time. Okay.

02:05:00 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:05:04 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 2:

I have been a single parent myself to a nine-year-old little girl for seven and a half years of her life. The father and I get along great. His wife and I, like, it's just a beautiful blended family. However, dating is hard because you meet someone, things are great. And what I've gotten is, oh, things are great. It's just, I don't know if I want to start over with somebody with a child. Well, bye, because my kid's not going anywhere. Yeah. yeah and i have never once in her life have a babysitter for her it's either my parents or her dad that sees her on the weekend and i go to work i don't date it's so hard but like do you yearn for that connection do you yearn for that connection you know what sometimes i do but then i remember all the crap that comes along with starting to see somebody and when you've been like you know cheated on in the past and things like that you're just like you know what I'm fine I have my kid I have my dog I have a couple arcade passes I'm cool that's wild you know

02:06:08 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 5:

yeah but it's I think there I think there's a difference but I think protection is a very interesting thing I think we can protect our ourselves from things happening or I think we can be so hurt from what has happened that we build a wall of protection and I don't know if that gets you where you ultimately truly want to be it's really just a survival technique you've

02:06:28 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 4:

picked up along the way one thing i'm learning from this topic is we need to do some kind of a single you know dad mom i can't call it parent anymore like uh dating thing because i will tell you everybody instead of calling with advice for kevin they're calling up with the same dilemma and i think that it's obvious that we have a lot of listeners that are just like this it's just hard

02:06:50 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 3:

to date in general i think you're right adding kids on top of it makes it so much harder and

02:06:54 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 6:

especially kids that you only see part of the time because you feel like i remember that you feel so guilty even taking one minute away from your time with them morgan's got the tough one because not

02:07:05 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 4:

only is morgan dealing with the fact that you have children morgan how many do you have i have three children three boys three children but listen to what else he's got how many jobs do you

02:07:14 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 6:

have so i if you want to get technical i work three jobs but one of them is only one night a week but i do work you know 70 to 80 hours a week so this is not even just kev's route yeah it's not

02:07:26 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 4:

even the juggling the fact that you have children but it's also juggling the fact that you have multiple occupations that you got to deal with huh yeah and kev i don't i don't have great advice if

02:07:38 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 6:

i ever figure it out yeah it's the same setup like you hear a lot of comments from people you're trying today people you're interested in even when things have gone well that you know hey i think you're just kind of too busy i think you have too much going on well there's nothing i can do to control that you know man it's think that people that have spent so much time looking for you know like a decent partner when you find one that's actually putting in the work for their kids for work you'd think you'd get a little bit of grace on that one you know i'm telling you we're doing

02:08:09 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 4:

something morgan we're going to get together and put our heads together for maybe a summertime uh rooftop party or something like that and make it a that would be amazing and then what we'll do is if we do it at our one of the hotels a rooftop party we should have daycare for the children

02:08:24 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 3:

yeah a bunch of babysitters wanting to make some cash but we'll pay we'll pay that tap for you

02:08:31 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 4:

my kinder care on the first level that wkw detroit wsnx muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo

02:08:38 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 3:

02:08:47 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 4:

We are paying bills. We're going to give you a chance to win $1,000 right after this War of the Roses.

02:08:55 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters. And proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:01 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 4:

Tamara, why do you think that your husband is cheating on you?

02:09:03 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 1:

well uh he's been spending a lot of time with a woman on our block who recently got divorced and it's just a lot of time what is his excuse for why he's spending so much time

02:09:19 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 4:

with a now single woman that lives uh in your neighborhood uh well he says he's just helping

02:09:27 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 1:

her out like around the house and stuff uh one of the excuses was she got a ticket and he was trying to help her get out of it which kind of tracks because he's a cop but i think just in general because i keep asking he just keeps saying he feels bad because she doesn't have a man around the house to like help her and protect her and he's just trying to be nice are you friendly with

02:09:50 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 4:

this woman a lot like is this somebody that you are you friendly with her like uh the have you spend any time with her?

02:09:59 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Not.

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 3:

Really? I mean, just from seeing her on the neighborhood, walking the dogs and stuff.

02:10:05 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

General. So he would go over and spend time at her house, and yet you two are not, like, friends. That just doesn't seem right.

02:10:13 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, no, it's not. I mean, friends, no, we're not friends, but, you know, we've had neighborhood, like, barbecues or whatever.

02:10:24 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 1:

And also helping her with a ticket to me. Like, he doesn't even have to go to her house to do that.

02:10:29 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't like the idea that the divorced lady in the neighborhood is is spending time with your husband.

02:10:38 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 1:

Like I like that to me just seems like he shouldn't be doing that, especially since it's not somebody like you said, who's part of a friend group that you guys have had for, you know, since you moved into the neighborhood or something.

02:10:52 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We're hoping that they go to Tamara. Mute your phone so he doesn't get suspicious when we call.

02:11:03 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:11:04 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 2:

It's the War of the Roses.

02:11:14 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:11:15 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm looking for Carter.

02:11:19 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 4:

Who's this?

02:11:21 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Carter. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you. Do you have 30 seconds to answer some survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses? Totally free of charge.

02:11:35 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 4:

I'm kind of in a hurry.

02:11:37 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 1:

It will truly take less than a minute, and I'm not going to ask you for credit card information. It's nothing like that. It's just an advertising strategy for us to get our name out there. One minute tops. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Carter?

02:11:52 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:11:53 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months not really okay that was a survey um and now i'm authorized to provide you with a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can actually be shipped out as early as today if that's okay with you i just need to get a first and a last name of who you would like these flowers

02:12:12 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 4:

sent to um you need the last name too can can i just send them to becca uh i i do need a last

02:12:25 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 1:

last name okay um i think her last name's um uh or a first a first initial of last name do you know that yeah it's okay um do you have becca's phone number i do yeah okay i need that too oh um 616 mm-hmm okay and what's her relationship to you excuse me her relationship to you I basically I'm creating a profile so when you order from us again it's really quick I'll be able to just click who they're going to and you won't even have to go

02:13:19 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 4:

through any of this again uh yeah i mean i probably won't send these flowers again but uh

02:13:25 - 02:13:53 | Speaker 1:

yeah she's just someone i know okay and confirming that red roses is okay yeah okay and carter we do something unique at rosesbloom.com instead of sending a paper card with the flowers we're gonna send becca a text letting her know that she has a delivery and then uh this voice memo that you're gonna record is gonna come along with that so she'll know who the flowers are from. So I'm going to count you down and you just talk, say basically what you

02:13:53 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 4:

would say on a card. All right. Okay. Three, two, one. Hey Bex, I just wanted to send you these so that you know that your kids aren't the only one out there who love you. Okay. Is that good?

02:14:17 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 1:

yeah i feel like was that good i'm i'm good with it as long as you're good with it we can always

02:14:25 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 4:

record it again uh no it's it's fine i i should get i should go on anyways okay i real quick i

02:14:31 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are

02:14:35 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

you okay with that uh sure okay carter i'm gonna jump on just to finish off this call and then we're going to send those flowers out. Okay. So I just want to jump on real quick just to let you know one last thing that while we've been talking to you and you've been sending flowers out that your wife Tamara has been listening in and just heard every word that you just said.

02:15:00 - 02:15:07 | Unknown:

okay

02:15:07 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 6:

Carter this is the mojo in the morning show and your wife Tamara called us up to do the war of the roses because she was worried that you were cheating on her and just heard you send flowers to another woman

02:15:21 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 5:

yeah I mean it's this is this is this is a neighbor This is, like, not another woman.

02:15:35 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 6:

Tamara, is this the person that you were talking about?

02:15:39 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 7:

I don't think, I don't, yeah, it is. You just send something to a woman that's not your wife, not me. You're a married man. You don't do that.

02:15:51 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's not how it seems. How does it seem, Carter? What is it? She's, you know, she's, I mean, she's met her. She's just in a tough place right now.

02:16:14 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 3:

But that is not up to you. That is not up to you to bring her out of that tough place. And you can see where your wife would be extremely hurt that you think of this woman before you think of her.

02:16:29 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I really didn't mean anything by this.

02:16:33 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 7:

I don't even know what that means.

02:16:35 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 6:

The problem is that you're saying that to your wife, who just heard you send flowers to another woman and talk about how she's loved by more than just her kids. I think the story that Tamara told us about her being uncomfortable by this thing, is either something that you just didn't understand that she was being serious about or honestly, there is something going on between the two of you guys. I'm going to have you guys... I'm going to have you guys hang on and talk to each other with just the two of you guys, okay?

02:17:18 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:17:22 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 6:

Hold on one sec.

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning.

02:18:05 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 6:

Okay, War of the Roses. Not a great situation. Just a few moments ago, and Tamara hearing that her husband sends flowers to the divorced woman down the street, which she already was skeptical about. She was not feeling comfort in this. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is our telephone number what's up Jordan hi

02:18:30 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 4:

I think it's really sad that well first off the best way to figure out if you're sleeping with somebody is to say I love you like you don't know their last name

02:18:42 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 6:

that is true I think and this is just my guess I think he didn't know if he should send it to her with the last name that's her married name or her maiden name

02:18:52 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I didn't even think about that. Neither did I.

02:18:55 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 3:

But you know what also was very interesting? Did you notice he had a little nickname for her? Yes.

02:19:01 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 6:

Bex? Let's play that real quick, okay? This was just a few moments ago on the message.

02:19:06 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 3:

Three, two, one.

02:19:10 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Bex. I just wanted to send you these so that you know that your kids aren't the only one out there who love you. Yeah, yeah, Bax.

02:19:24 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

I miss that. But I also feel like I'm so used to people saying babe that I'm like, oh, I skipped over it.

02:19:29 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 6:

But I think you say like Bax like that or even babe. I think they're both similar. I think that's definitely lovey. What's going on, Samantha? Where are the roses?

02:19:38 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 2:

Hello, the part of the recording which is not the only one that loves you? What does that mean?

02:19:43 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, your kids aren't the only ones out there who love you.

02:19:47 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:19:47 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 2:

Uh-uh. No, if my man said that, we would be over in a minute. There'd be no second guessing, but no.

02:19:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, there's no coming back from that one. Thank you. Thank you for the call. Hold on a second here.

02:20:00 - 02:20:02 | Speaker 2:

Is it Amar Ellis? Is that right?

02:20:03 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 1:

Amarellis.

02:20:04 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 2:

Amarellis. You were so close. It says phonetically up there, and I thought to myself, I'm like, it says, yeah, she's...

02:20:11 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 4:

Amarellis.

02:20:13 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Amarellis?

02:20:15 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's time for the wife to go check Bex.

02:20:19 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Bex. I think Bex needs a visit, don't you think?

02:20:22 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, we can see why she's divorced.

02:20:25 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's a question for you on this one. But the divorced person down the street calls your husband up and says, hey, can you come over? Don't you stop that right away? Like, don't you just have a little conversation and say.

02:20:37 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 5:

I'll be the one coming over. I was going to say, or let's us go over there and help her with whatever she needs help with or, you know.

02:20:44 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's just what I'm going to happen. There's a problem.

02:20:48 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

When you don't have a relationship, like it's another, it's one thing if you have a friendship with them. Because then you can feel like you can trust them a little bit. But if you have no friendship at all with them, there's something to this.

02:21:01 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, absolutely.

02:21:03 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:21:03 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call. You need to go check her.

02:21:06 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call. Amar Ellis.

02:21:10 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 1:

It's okay.

02:21:12 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 2:

Have a good one.

02:21:12 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 1:

Love you guys.

02:21:13 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 3:

Love you.

02:21:13 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 2:

Love you too.

02:21:14 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

I think we doing a lot of speculation without enough information. Oh, I have people that I'm cool with and I'm close to, and I don't know what that lady going through. maybe she confided in him for whatever reason he recognized that and he's just saying like you know your kid's not the only one who love you because the kid's probably the only ones that really know

02:21:33 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

the situation and see their mom in pain every day yeah but if you're kev uh the wife and you're hearing that to another woman don't you think that you're starting to let your mind go wander

02:21:45 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 3:

yeah but i mean that's that's that's what assumptions lead right that's one of the four laws don't assume because nine times out of ten where that is where that assumption will lead you is nothing but devastation and despair so now that you have information ask some questions don't just

02:22:00 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 5:

jump off the bridge i get where you're going with that kev but then in that situation if he was trying to just remind her that she is loved by a lot more people wouldn't he say in the voice memo you know love carter and tamra like wouldn't he bring his wife into the we are we are sending you these because we are thinking of you and we want you to remind you to send these as a reminder that

02:22:24 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 3:

you're loved. Shannon, I totally understand that. And in a perfect world, I think that would work out. But I think maybe his wife doesn't like her in the first place. Well, if his wife doesn't like her, I don't think you should be hanging out with her. Come on, bro. You know, women sometimes just

02:22:39 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 5:

be tripping. Yeah, but it's your relationship and your home and your day to day life. Why would you

02:22:44 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 3:

try to piss her off well i'm not saying you try to piss her off but i know sometimes i've been in relationships where i don't think it was right and sometimes i didn't do what i felt was right just to appease the woman that i was with for the sake of appeasing her even though she really didn't have a real reason to feel how she felt other than she was just emotional and tripping

02:23:05 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 2:

interesting uh andy what do you think of cav's uh kind of hey let's all take a

02:23:10 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 4:

a breath air for a moment pull his head out of the sand Kevin come on you know because you know you don't say love you to and then Becca you know there's just way too much going on and then you know like you were talking earlier he's a police officer you know I actually have five uh cousins that are police officers, four of the five are all divorced and remarried.

02:23:40 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. Yeah. By the way, it's an occupation that tops the list of people that go through divorce. I think a lot is the stress in the relationship, but there's probably also others, you know, other things that come into play.

02:23:52 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 4:

You know, and also, you know, they're married. You know, Kev was never, you know, I don't think he was ever married.

02:24:00 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 2:

No, not married yet. So, Kevin, do you think married is different than dating?

02:24:04 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 4:

of course no i'm asking i was asking andy that question too oh i do yeah okay you know there's a commitment there you know you got a contract yeah yeah but i also think i think people who

02:24:19 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 3:

wait until they like if i'm in a fully committed relationship and i'm at the point where i've established that this is someone that i'm marrying hopefully my whole world in terms of commitment doesn't change simply because i said i do i should be practicing those same habits before i walk down out because at that point you already who you are michelle what did you want to say to kevin

02:24:38 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

oh kevin i normally love you love you love you but today i want to strangle you oh if my husband had sent flowers to another woman i would get his chainsaw out and cut down every treat in our yard.

02:25:00 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like that. The only reason I say this is because, and it could be completely different because I see people every day that I work with and we build relationships. But if I'm in a relationship and Bianca, for example, confides in me and says some stuff and I'd be like, all right, Kaji, I love you, man. I just wanted to send you some flowers. Like, I know our relationship. That's the only reason I say that.

02:25:21 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hey, Michelle, if the divorced lady down the street comes to your man and starts talking, why are you calling us first for War of the Roses? Why aren't you going down there and beating down her door going, let's have a conversation?

02:25:35 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. I bring my chainsaw to that conversation.

02:25:38 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 1:

Right. Well, I mean, maybe not that extent. I shouldn't ask you that.

02:25:41 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 3:

Someone needs to take the chainsaw away from you.

02:25:44 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 1:

I'm a lawyer, by the way, and your man doesn't need a chainsaw. All right. Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. All right, when we come back here next, find the fob. A chance to win a brand new Chevy. That's on the way. Shannon's got the dirty on the way coming up here next.

02:26:09 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 3:

We are going to be talking about Liam Payne. His girlfriend was just on the Jace Shetty podcast detailing his last days and their last very chilling conversation. That story coming up in the Dirty. Don't go anywhere. It's next.

02:26:24 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 5:

Shannon's dirty. Is Shannon pretty dirty? A dirty dirty? Yeah.

02:26:28 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 4:

More Mojo in minutes.

02:26:32 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 1:

All right. Find the fob. It's Chance now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 95th caller. 844-665-6548. 95th caller. Good luck to you. Find the fob. It's all brought to you by Moran Automotive.

02:26:50 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:26:53 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 1:

One last Dirty on the 30 right now. Shannon, what's going on on the Dirty on the 30?

02:26:58 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 3:

So I know there were lots of rumors, and we were getting little, like, bits of information here and there, but Morgan Wallen has finally revealed the full track list for his upcoming 37-song project, I'm the Problem. So the album features collabs with Post Malone, which we knew about, Tate McRae, which I tipped you off about yesterday, Eric Church, Ernest, and Hardy. He tapped 49 songwriters for this thing. I mean, that's a Hardy album. I hate that word. That's a Hardy album. That's like a beef stew.

02:27:36 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 1:

I actually have become a Morgan Wallen fan. Don't get in there.

02:27:41 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Hey, all his songs are catchy. I don't know what it is. 37, bro? 37 songs.

02:27:45 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 1:

That's a lot of songs. That's nuts. But they're all two minutes long, aren't they? Don't they all go two minutes? I mean, that's like every song right now.

02:27:52 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 4:

I just want the same energy if he wins a bunch of Grammys that you did for Beyonce when she had a bunch of writers. That's all I'm asking. No.

02:27:59 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 3:

He co-wrote 22 of the songs but did enlist the help of four songwriters.

02:28:04 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 1:

I still go crazy when I listen to that Whiskey Glasses song. I don't know.

02:28:09 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 3:

I got a phone call from one of Liam's friends.

02:28:11 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, that's the wrong one. Hold on. Where's the clip? Where's the whiskey glasses? Whiskey glasses didn't play. What's going on? We'll sing it live. We'll do it live. Whiskey glasses. Hold on. Here it is. Can I tell you why? Here it is. Here it is. Yeah, what were you going to say?

02:28:22 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 3:

I want to tell you a funny Morgan Wallen fan. So I have a four-year-old niece named Stella.

02:28:27 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:28:27 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 3:

And she loves Morgan Wallen. Well, her preschool teacher apparently is unaware of Morgan Wallen's song last night because she asked the kids recently, Stella, what did you do last night? And my niece's response was, last night we left.

02:28:42 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's the cutest. I like that. That's so great.

02:28:45 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 3:

My sister got a little calm. Got a little home calm. I don't think I'd go to one of his concerts, though.

02:28:59 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Why not? I would.

02:29:01 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 1:

First off, I would go because the women that are at Morgan Wallen concerts are beautiful. But it seems to me like an effort. Everybody stands the entire show. Oh, I was wondering where you were going with this. The entire show, they're standing. And it's always at Ford Field, and it's too big for me. Like, I'll go to any show at Pine Knob. I like Pine Knob.

02:29:23 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 5:

I love Pine Knob.

02:29:24 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 1:

But if you put a show at Ford Field or Comerica Park, I ain't going. It just seems like it's not intimate enough for me. It's too big.

02:29:31 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 5:

I don't like the baseball ones.

02:29:33 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 1:

The baseball ones make it too far from the stage, right?

02:29:35 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 5:

baseball concerts where they have some people standing really close to the stage and then a lot of it's empty and then the seats are far away. I don't like the baseball ones. The football ones

02:29:43 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

are okay. Jonas Brothers are going to be at Comerica Park. And I think the last show I saw at Comerica Park might have either been I know this is something weird. Death Leopard Journey one that was like a couple years ago. And then before that was the Eminem Rihanna. And you're right, Megan, if you have left field seats.

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 6:

you're screwed you're so far in the back and there's nobody in front of you and you're like just let me go on the field right there and be able to watch it yeah it's it's okay sorry uh

02:30:11 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 4:

okay so i i tease this the jay shetty podcast the on purpose with jay shetty podcast if you haven't ever taken a listen to it it's a really great one you can find out on the iheart radio app but he had the late liam payne's girlfriend kate cassidy as a guest this week and obviously one of the things that they talked about was the moment she found out that something horrible had happened to Liam. He was in Buenos Aires. She had just come home two or three days prior and she starts getting phone calls and texts. I got a phone call from one of Liam's friends

02:30:43 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

and he called me and said, is Liam okay? I heard he fell from a balcony. And I said, what that must be a rumor I was like that's not true at all like there's no way this this isn't true and when his friend first called me too he didn't mention anything about death so the first thing that went to my mind was either it was a rumor just something for clickbait or he fell off a balcony and he broke a rib like he's okay um so I'm making all these phone calls and nobody's answering at this point i'm like starting to freak out and i'm starting to get a little bit panicky i call his friend back and i say um have you heard any updates i'm really confused like what's going on and he was like the only update i've heard is that liam's liam's um liam's dead and um in that moment I still didn't believe it to be true there was just no way but there was just that one little part of me in the back of my head that was like why would somebody make this up you know she was

02:31:51 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 4:

also talking about the last conversation that they had and she um looking back now it's just very chilling what was said I remember sitting there with him and I was going on and on and on

02:32:03 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

and saying to Liam how much I love him. And he laughed and he interrupted me and he just said, Kate, like, you're going to miss your flight. Your car's in the driveway. You're acting like this is the last time you're ever going to see me again.

02:32:17 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 6:

Isn't that crazy? Wasn't it, though, that she, I thought you'd had an earlier report, like, weeks ago that said that she knew, though, that this guy needed to get help and not be...

02:32:30 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 4:

They were fighting, right? That was not a secret. Oh, jeez. That was not a secret.

02:32:34 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:32:35 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I'm sure some things he was doing during that specific trip, she was not aware of. But it was not a secret that he had an issue. Yeah. Yeah, with several things. So over on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Khloe Kardashian talking about all sorts of stuff, including the moment she showed up at an L.A. motel to bust Lamar Odom as he was in the middle of cheating on her.

02:32:58 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 1:

I was there and I remember asking the guy at the front. And I was like, hey, is Lamar Odom, where's Lamar Odom? Like he's this big guy, you can identify him. He told me what room he was in. I saw in the window that him and this girl were, they were either naked or in, she was in lingerie, something like that. I knocked on the door, they answered it for some reason. And I just started going ballistic. And I remember the next day, it was, I think Penelope's birthday party. And it was a cowboy party. And my knuckles were all bloody and gross. And I just had bandanas wrapped around. and I was on theme, and I acted as if nothing ever happened, and I don't think I ever said a thing.

02:33:36 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 4:

How did she manage to track him to that hotel? She wasn't tracking his location. She got kind of creative.

02:33:42 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 1:

You're this seven-foot-tall man, and you're on the Lakers. Everyone knows who you are. You're very identifiable. So I think how I found out was people on Twitter were like, Lamar Odom is da-da-da. And so I, of course, am that psychotic. I searched his hashtag. Wouldn't call that psychotic. I would call that very smart. Same.

02:34:01 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 5:

But why is my man at the front desk giving room numbers out? Not saying Lamar was doing the right thing, but what are you doing? That is interesting.

02:34:09 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 4:

That is interesting.

02:34:10 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they usually don't do that.

02:34:11 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 4:

So two other things from the podcast. She was asked about paychecks. Apparently, everybody on the Kardashians gets paid exactly the same, which I don't know if I believe, but that's what she claims. She also said they are able to review their footage, their scenes, and cut and edit the footage. And she said, Kourtney is the one who requests the most edits.

02:34:31 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 5:

Is she the least one in the show?

02:34:33 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 3:

Yes, which is why everybody's angry because this is the least surprising information. When I said boo, they shouldn't all get paid the same. Courtney should not be making the same money as everybody else and I'm not surprised that she's like the hardest to work with. And I said what I said. For all of today's Dirty Catch, if I check it out, the podcast.

Somebody is going to win a brand new car or $25,000 cash. Suzy, why not be you? Susie from Wyandotte. We love Wyandotte.

02:35:33 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:35:34 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 3:

And now, which would you do? Would you choose the vehicle? Would you choose the car? Or would you choose the cash?

02:35:40 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 2:

I think I would choose the car.

02:35:42 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And which one are we driving home in?

02:35:45 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 2:

Tahoe.

02:35:46 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 3:

A lot of listeners are going to say that.

02:35:47 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 1:

That's a popular one.

02:35:48 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

It's great looking. Congratulations, T. I want you to hang on the phone, and we'll get some information from you. How does that feel? That's a good thing to happen to you today.

02:35:56 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my. It feels great. All right. Awesome. I'm so excited.

02:36:00 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 3:

Hang on. Who's that in the background?

02:36:02 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 2:

My husband, Julio. Hi. What's up, Julio? How you doing, Julio? Just hanging out with the wife here.

02:36:10 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 3:

We love it. What's the song? Julio down by the... The schoolyard. By the schoolyard.

02:36:16 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 2:

Me and Julio down by the schoolyard.

02:36:18 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

What song is that?

02:36:19 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wasn't it a theme song to a show?

02:36:21 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 3:

No. No, me and Julio down by... Garfield. Garfield. What's the name of it? Simon and Garfield. Simon and Garfield. The youngest guy on the show is the one that knows it. Zach just told it in my air there. Me and Julio down by the schoolyard. All right, hang on. Well, you guys, Julio and Susie, we're going to hopefully get you a car. Moran Chevrolet. We'll see both of you, hopefully.

02:36:48 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 2:

Love you guys. Love you guys the best. Love you, too. Mojo in the morning on the iHeartRadio app. Tap that app. We love you, too.

02:36:55 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 3:

get a uh couple of things in here before we leave also a contest that i want to do before we leave too so i'm going to do that uh easter is this weekend so i have an easter type of a idea for a contest that uh that we will do and uh i gotta thank a radio friend for that one i gotta I think my buddy Maney, who does radio in Charlotte, he actually and I were talking, and he said, hey, you ever try this contest? I'm like, oh, I like that. That's actually nice. And so what I do is I'll talk to these other radio shows, and I'll just steal their bits from them.

02:37:36 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 2:

Awesome.

02:37:36 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 3:

And then put them on the radio. I let them try it out first, see how it is. He tells me what works well, it doesn't work well, and then we do it all right here in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Toledo, and on the iHeartRadio app across the world. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. So here's the topic. What's the craziest thing that somebody has in their house right now that can top Megan's brother? Because Megan's brother actually had to go out and buy this, which is interesting. What does he now have in his house?

02:38:06 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm literally so annoyed by this because we went out to a clothing store. I want to make this very clear. This purchase happened at a clothing store where he saw a decoration in the store, which is a carousel horse that he offered to buy from the owner of the shop. And the owner said, sure. Like it was decoration. It was not for sale. It was not for sale. It was a decoration. And you guys saw this before. Kev, this is my brother's face while walking out with this horse. Oh, he is ecstatic. He's so happy. He's so happy. It's not even funny. It's massive.

02:38:50 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 3:

Describe it to the listeners.

02:38:51 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 1:

It looks like a horse you would ride on an old school carousel. Like Greenfield Village. It looks like he took it right off the carousel at Greenfield Village. And it has a real hair tail. Look at the tail. It's got the pole and everything. Real hair. And it was not for sale. I want to make that very clear. It was a clothing store. You can see the racks of clothes behind him. Clothing stores. And he said, I want that horse.

02:39:14 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 3:

And the owner said, sure. Why did the guy sell it? What was his, if it was such a decorative thing that he's had there in the store?

02:39:21 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 1:

Because somebody wanted to buy it. So did he just make up a price, like a number out of thin air?

02:39:26 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 2:

He understood. He looked in your brother's eyes and he saw the same joy he saw when he bought it. And he wanted to extend that.

02:39:32 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And it was insane because he brings it home, right? We had to rearrange the seats in his car to get it back to his house. i'm like thank god we don't live together anymore and we get to his house we unload it into the house there's nowhere to put where do you put where do you put a carousel horse it's in his

02:39:51 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 3:

dining room because that makes sense is it sitting up like is it is there a way to what do you does

02:39:56 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

it have like a base or something yes it has a pulling base

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 2:

That's how it was in the store. And dog is absolutely terrified of this horse. Dog is terrified. Will not walk into the room.

02:40:09 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 5:

Can you ride it? Can you get on it?

02:40:11 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 2:

No, because it's very, very old. But my dog gets fed in the kitchen. You have to go through the dining room to get to the kitchen. Dog refuses to eat. We have to take the food out of the living room now.

02:40:21 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 5:

By the way, dog has a name. Coraline.

02:40:23 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 2:

Coraline refuses to go into the kitchen to eat anymore because she will not walk by this horse. She's freaked out by it. But the other day we had to take the baby gates down. And so we took the horse up to the upstairs platform because we knew she wouldn't go upstairs if the horse was up there. So now the horse has become like, the dog needs to stay away. Put the horse there. Did he want to go to this clothing store? No.

02:40:44 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 5:

That's why he bought it. That's why. He didn't want to go. He was pissed off he was in there. And then he saw a wave to bring him joy. I support him.

02:40:52 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Somebody had one of those in my neighborhood growing up. And they put it, they had a bear. I remember the girl was on my school bus, Elizabeth. She was mean, too. But she had the horse, her family had the horse in the front window. And I always thought it was so strange.

02:41:06 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 2:

But, like, I just feel like there's always one purchase that a guy makes that makes you go, why is that in the house? Why is that? This is that. Why is there a carousel horse? What sparked joy there?

02:41:17 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 5:

I want to know if your brother's going to get more carnival items at all.

02:41:22 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'll tell you what. I was there when his girlfriend came over for the first time. And let me tell you, it's my brother's house. It's not her house. It's his. And you do that. You ever see a girlfriend do the whole, oh, wow.

02:41:35 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 5:

She ate it.

02:41:36 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 2:

That's so interesting. Is it staying there? And I was like, oh, she's pissed.

02:41:44 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The funny thing is when you go to, and you can tell your brother's a single guy because when you're married, you don't do the stuff. This doesn't happen. That thing would be in the garage so fast, it would not be in the dining room. But when you go to a single guy's house and a single guy has, like, the coolest stuff, Johnny Dare, our good friend Johnny Dare, has bought more jukeboxes from bars. He's gone into bars and bars. See, that's cool, though.

02:42:12 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 1:

I love that in my house.

02:42:13 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 5:

Not all of them work. And pinball machines. He's got an ACDC pinball machine that is pretty damn cool.

02:42:18 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 2:

My brother has graffitied his entire downstairs as well. So, like, you walk in and it looks like a fun house. Now, it's his happy place. It is exactly what he enjoys.

02:42:26 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 5:

Anybody have a fun house? Anybody have the mirrors and everything? What's up, Bree? How you doing?

02:42:31 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

02:42:32 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:42:33 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 3:

I want to tell Megan, it's giving the dog statue in Joey and Chandler's apartment from Fred.

02:42:39 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 5:

That's right.

02:42:40 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 3:

I never watched Fred. What is the dog statue? It's like this giant white dog statue that's big enough that they can ride on, and it's on wheels. Yes.

02:42:50 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Now, let me tell you, he has a pink porcelain statue of a cat next to his fireplace. Oh, my God. My brother is that guy. So, you know what your brother needs?

02:42:59 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 5:

Your brother needs to figure out a way to ride this thing. Like, he needs to figure out a way to put wheels on it and take it around the neighborhood.

02:43:05 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 2:

I agree. Just on the hopeful, like, kind of prayer that it breaks.

02:43:12 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jessica, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:43:15 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I actually feel his joy and excitement, okay? Because I have a 21-year-old daughter, and when she was little, actually right after she was born, I started for holidays collecting her carousel horse art and little collectibles. She has globes with them in there, just little tiny ones that sit and rock. I would be ecstatic to find a huge one. I would have been the same way. Like, I need this. Was it expensive?

02:43:46 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 5:

I need this.

02:43:47 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:43:48 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 5:

If you want, Megan will get your information for when this thing needs to go, and she'll sell it to you.

02:43:54 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. The girlfriend needs it gone. I'll take it.

02:43:57 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 2:

I'll just give you a copy of the key of the house, and it'll just... Go steal it.

02:44:00 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 4:

Where did it go? Yeah, it'll just vanish. It'll vanish.

02:44:04 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 2:

But like you said with your daughter, my brother is the happiest person I know. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, he does not care that nobody likes it. He is so happy.

02:44:14 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 5:

I think this is like his version of an old clunker car that's like your dad's. Yes. You know how your dad had it all in the front yard of the house?

02:44:25 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he had a 1963 Ford Falcon. My brother did.

02:44:27 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, one of them was. I didn't know that. I thought they were all your brothers.

02:44:30 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 2:

No, they're, well, all of the Wranglers.

02:44:32 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 5:

I know at least one of them was yours, right?

02:44:33 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 2:

So we had a 70s Wrangler, an 80s Wrangler, two 90s Wranglers. Those were all my dad's. The 1963 Ford Falcon was my brother's, and he got it when he was 16. It was his, like, first car.

02:44:44 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Dan? How you doing?

02:44:46 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 3:

Not much, man. How you guys doing?

02:44:48 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 5:

Good. We're talking about what's the crazy thing you got in your place?

02:44:51 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 3:

I have full-size pop machines.

02:44:54 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 5:

Yay.

02:44:54 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 3:

What's up? In the game room. We used to have to do like the two fridges for all the kids' drinks and everything. Yeah.

02:45:00 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 4:

I found a pop machine, and we just set it in there. They're set to free. My wife wanted to set them for $2 because she wanted to recoup some of that cash. But I was like, no, let's do it for free. That's cool. How much pop do they hold? Jukeboxes, pinball machines. I collect stuff. Anything that you can put a quarter in.

02:45:15 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 3:

How many cans of pop can you put in that thing?

02:45:19 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 4:

20 cases. Wow.

02:45:22 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 5:

Whoa. That's a lot of pop.

02:45:23 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 4:

When we walk out of Kroger's, they want to check our receipt because we got two carts full of pop.

02:45:28 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what? Can I tell you the funny thing? By the way, that's amazing. That's an amazing thing to have. That's fun. This reminds me of Tony Travato. I told him, I said, hey, can you make Zach a key to the parking lot gate? Do you know if we can bring it to a hardware store or something like that? Do it? He goes, oh, no, worry about it. I got a key cutter at home. Who has a key cutter at home?

02:45:50 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 4:

What was scary was how inexpensive it was. What he told us, it was like $200 to get one of those?

02:45:55 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, who goes out and gets a key cutter?

02:45:56 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't trust anybody who has one. I know. You're up to no good. And he lives on the farm. But now I'm kind of like, I could use some copies of my keys.

02:46:04 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 3:

The other thing, too, is I had a friend of mine that used to have a Dairy Queen soft serve ice cream machine at his house.

02:46:12 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 2:

Hell yeah.

02:46:13 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 3:

And he had it literally in his kitchen. And when you'd go over to his house and you'd get Dairy Queen. There used to be a place called Zips that was by our house that served it. It was in Chicago area, not around here. And he bought it from Zips when they were going out of business.

02:46:26 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 2:

This might not be crazy. I got a popcorn machine.

02:46:29 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you? Like on wheels? Like, is it like a cool, like a movie theater-esque popcorn?

02:46:33 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like glass door. Oh, yeah. Do you use it? No. No. Yeah.

02:46:38 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 3:

I would love to have a popcorn machine, but the only problem is I would eat it all the time. But then you got to clean it, too. Yeah. Hey, what's up, Chris?

02:46:45 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Hey, fellas, how is everything going? Ladies as well. How you doing? Good.

02:46:50 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 3:

We're great. What's going on? We're talking about Megan's brother's horse.

02:46:54 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 6:

oh no i walk past the house every time i'm uh at my studio in gross point i walk past the house that has a carousel horse right in the picture window there it's super creepy looking that's

02:47:05 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 4:

the one that shannon you were talking about uh well i gross deal he said gross point but oh yeah yeah gross point yeah so there's two of them it's something about the grossest

02:47:16 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 6:

Can you accept pictures on the texting line at 9-5-5-0-0?

02:47:23 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, send us something. DM it. DM it to us on Instagram or something.

02:47:28 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 2:

Or just text Mojo 313

02:47:30 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 3:

313-5-5-5-1-2-1-2 What's going on, Brad?

02:47:39 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I have got a taxidermied lion that I bought in college for 50 bucks. we kept it in our dorm room yeah it was like an estate sale uh this guy had and we went and bought it for 50 bucks kept it in our dorm room all year long and then i'm like we got to get this home so it's been in my basement for uh the last like 10 years how much space did that take

02:48:01 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 4:

up is it just the head or is it the whole thing no it's the whole thing like it's almost as tall

02:48:06 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 5:

as me like it's on it's like hind legs like it's like trying to like oh my gosh buddy there's

02:48:12 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 4:

something weird dude do you know how much those are worth yeah i i yeah i have no idea i'm sure

02:48:20 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 5:

it was worth a lot they sell for like five thousand dollars probably probably something that just the kids didn't want you know it was like their dad type of thing and we got to get

02:48:28 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 2:

rid of it but yeah 50 bucks a half body mount is six thousand dollars oh my gosh i got some money

02:48:35 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 3:

in my basement yeah what if what if you find out that your brother just bought gold like that like He bought something. And you're making fun of him.

02:48:44 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you, I hate it. Get it appraised.

02:48:49 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:49:04 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. So Bianca from the show, which many listeners may not know Bianca, Yeah, but Bianca's worked here. You've worked for iHeart and started in the promo department for how long now? A few years?

02:49:16 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 1:

January was my two years. Was it two years? Isn't that crazy?

02:49:19 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 3:

And then started working on our show, and she was like assistant social media director and now is doing it full time. So Bianca hit up a guy on Instagram.

02:49:31 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Yep, and that was the first and the last of ever doing that again. Lydia actually encouraged me because she's like, oh, this guy is so cute. You should try and slide in.

02:49:40 - 02:49:44 | Speaker 3:

Did he? What? Was he just somebody that requested you on Instagram?

02:49:44 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

Lydia sent me a screenshot of this page. She was like, this guy's cute. I saw him on LinkedIn. Shoot your shot. I saw him on LinkedIn. LinkedIn.

02:49:50 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

So you saw him on LinkedIn. Then you went to his Instagram, checked out his Instagram. He had the ability to be able to DM him, and you DMed him, and what happened?

02:49:59 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 1:

And he was a football player. Michigan. Oh, yeah. So I DM'd him. I actually never DM guys. That was the first time. So I did it. And I was like, hey, with a little winky face. He responded back with, I got a girl, skull emoji. Oh. I was like, alright. So I'm thinking about it. I'm like, first of all, kind of a rude response. Second of all, he shouldn't be responding if he has a girlfriend. Third of all, there's no girlfriend on his Instagram. So how would I know?

02:50:30 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why should he not respond that he's got a girlfriend? He's just telling you he's got a girlfriend.

02:50:34 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 1:

Personally, I think if you have a boyfriend, girlfriend, and someone else DMs you, you don't answer. What do you do then? Delete the message.

02:50:42 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 3:

You just delete it?

02:50:43 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's sketchier than just saying, I have a girlfriend. Because think about if you were dating somebody, and somebody's sliding into their DM saying, hey, winky face, how you doing? And you say, why didn't you say you have a girlfriend?

02:50:54 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 1:

Like, you would be mad. No, I'm just like, I think no response is the best response because you don't need to entertain them. Like, what if I didn't answer back to him after he said that, but if I did and I was trying to keep the conversation going, that could have been a war of the roses right there. You know what I'm saying?

02:51:10 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting.

02:51:11 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't see that. I think what he did was pretty upstanding. I think if the guy responds back, oh, thanks a lot. I appreciate it. And then I have a girlfriend, you know, I think the guy's basically giving you, he's giving you the nothing so that if his girl should have his passwords, she knows for a fact. Yeah. Like I think what he sent would satisfy any girl that's dating a taken guy. What about the dead emojis though?

02:51:35 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was rude.

02:51:36 - 02:51:37 | Speaker 3:

The dead emojis basically.

02:51:38 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

Two dead past emojis. But that could mean either, that could mean to me or stay away. Do you think it was his girlfriend who sent the message on his account?

02:51:48 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's actually a better point.

02:51:50 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 1:

I don't think a girlfriend would have access to an account that she's not featured on.

02:51:55 - 02:52:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, but maybe she got it because she's not trusting of him. He's a football player from Michigan. I think that Lydia might be right on this one here. I think a girl would be like, stay away, bitch, or I'll kill you.

02:52:07 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 2:

This is layered. I know. I see what's going on. I agree with you in some respects that it's better just to say nothing. And by saying anything, he's kind of entertaining you. Like, maybe he looked at the page and was like, she cold. Like, no, I got a girl on a dead face. But at the same time, maybe he is trying to get brownie points with this girl and screenshot it and, like, and sent it to her. Like, got another one, babe.

02:52:29 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 1:

But, like, why is the girlfriend not on Instagram? Like, clearly you're not showing her off.

02:52:33 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 2:

She might not want the public eye and attention like that. Okay, well, her boyfriend has all the public eye. Right. That's why she don't want to be on his page. Well, I don't know. He played for me. He probably verified on the account. No, he's not.

02:52:44 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 1:

I have more followers than him, but that's all. so are you thinking that there's something shady there or do you think that he's making up an excuse because he's not interested i don't honestly i don't know like if he if he wasn't interested he honestly i think regardless the response could have been nicer like i got a girl skull face like you could have been like i appreciate it but i have a girlfriend

02:53:02 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 3:

you know are you nothing eight eight four four mojo live eight four four six six five six five 9548 text is 95500 what is your theory behind this uh dm from uh i don't know bianca's football

02:53:18 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 1:

friend like when i had a boyfriend back in the day like if a guy dm me i wouldn't answer just like i was like i would show him like oh look at this lol delete but that's what i'm saying

02:53:27 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 3:

like who are you not to respond can you so bougie you can't even respond can i actually say something though i nowadays i think everything is a bot so to me and i've you know i've never dm'd to get a date or anything like that but when somebody dms and you did the winky face and all the rest of that stuff i would instantly think it's that girl with the picture of her from china you know what i mean and i would think i would be like okay this is a new little scam thing i would block you do you guys lydia and bianca you guys just sit there and go through dudes that you see on LinkedIn or Instagram and start sending him DMs?

02:54:02 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 1:

I don't DM any guy ever.

02:54:03 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 3:

But why'd you encourage Bianca to do this? Why not?

02:54:06 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 1:

She's like, he's too young for me, you can take him. He was too young for me.

02:54:11 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 2:

I want to send him a DM and see if he responds to me. The same way. By the way, LinkedIn doesn't have bots, does it? It's not like Instagram where there's bots. It does? Oh, yes it does.

02:54:22 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 1:

Do I follow him first or do I just send him a DM? No, because it'll say we're mutuals. He'll be like, dang, those girls passed their whole friend up around.

02:54:28 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 2:

So should I just... He might not see it. He's going to pop up in the request area, like that backdoor DM. Yeah. The hidden DM section. I never go in that. Okay, so what do I write in the message? What do I write in the message?

02:54:38 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, do you ever worry that you're going to get a bot off of all the girls that you're DMing back and forth with?

02:54:44 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 2:

I don't DM a lot of people.

02:54:45 - 02:54:51 | Speaker 3:

I know, but they DM you. They hit you up. I don't think so. You're always like, hit me up on Instagram. That's like your thing every morning.

02:54:51 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 2:

Kev knows. K-E-V-K-M-O-W-S. I thought you had no time for dating. Why are you doing that? I told her Shannon to post me on her story. He did yesterday. He goes, hey. do you think you could do me a favor i said what and he goes do you think that you could make a video saying this is my friend kev he's single if you want to shoot your shot this is his instagram

02:55:11 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 1:

and link his instagram and by the way use the promo code that we do for loopy cases 10 guys cupcake 10 yeah cupcake 10 can get you a date with this guy people by the way are texting in a lot of people have theories a lot of a lot of that's his girlfriend uh 586 says the dead emojis is i have a girlfriend and she will kill me now uh another one here says uh bianca your dad's listening to this he's gonna kill you for being in some guys i think at this point he could

02:55:41 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 3:

have set me up with a man like i was supposed to we'll follow the culture at this point would you

02:55:45 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 1:

be okay with that if your dad said we're gonna arrange marriage you oh actually guys it's crazy

02:55:50 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 3:

when I was younger. Actually, no. Literally, like two years ago, my dad's like, we have a guy for you that asks for your hand.

02:55:56 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 1:

Wait, who was the guy? Was he a local guy?

02:55:58 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 3:

I think Lydia knows him. You never met him? No, I never met him. And my parents came up to me. They're like, we have a man for you, but we don't think you're ready yet.

02:56:05 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 2:

So your parents are pretty old school when it comes to that.

02:56:08 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 3:

No, not really. This caught me off guard. But I'm like, honestly, I think if I hit like 27 and I don't have a man, throw it at me. No.

02:56:14 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 1:

So are they keeping him just in the freezer?

02:56:17 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 3:

No, I think he found another arranged marriage. oh i don't know but um i don't know but i think for me being like personally me reaching out to the guy and like dming him i normally don't do that so i don't know if do guys like for you kevin if a girl reach out to you he's like oh that's pretty bold move a girl's dming me yeah

02:56:33 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 5:

i like it okay so much hey hey rachel what's up hi hey um i was just thinking that like the dead emoji could be from laughing because i do that when i text or if like i'm commenting on like TikTok, I'll post the dead emoji if I'm like, I'm dead from laughing.

02:56:49 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so why would he laugh at the thing that she sent? She was sending something that was trying to get his attention. I don't know.

02:56:59 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 5:

Probably because he's just not interested.

02:57:01 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, I think it's the girlfriend situation. What's up, Lisa?

02:57:05 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. I was just thinking, if you get a response like that, you have closure and you move on. If you don't, you wonder, did he get it? And if he's thinking about it, it's just easier with closure.

02:57:18 - 02:57:23 | Speaker 2:

But with Instagram, you know if somebody saw your message. Yeah, for sure. I deleted it.

02:57:24 - 02:57:33 | Speaker 1:

Lisa, what do you think about the idea that Bianca is willing to be arranged marriage and if we could do that as our promotion, if we could find an arranged marriage?

02:57:34 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 4:

Girl, more power to you. But I tell you, Google and the internet will provide you everything you need to know about that person.

02:57:41 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, we'll definitely have to figure that out.

02:57:43 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, any Keldian cuties out there? I'm down to have a wedding at Pennas of Sterling, Mass at St. George.

02:57:48 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 1:

By the way, the best cream of, what is it, cream of chicken soup? Or what is the soup that they have there at Pennas? It's the best soup ever. 586 says Bianca is fine. Okay.

02:57:59 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 3:

And I'm single, so don't miss out on another baddie.

02:58:03 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 1:

I like that. And then somebody asked if you're Latin. They're asking if you're Latin on this one. Is Bianca Latin?

02:58:09 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 3:

Hablar espanol, pero no soy latina. Pero yo hablo espanol. Wow.

02:58:14 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 1:

Como se dice English? Where did you go to high school?

02:58:17 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 3:

Lance Cruz North.

02:58:18 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 1:

Shout out to the Lance Cruz North Spanish department. Do you get that a lot?

02:58:24 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I get Latino a lot. I get Filipino a lot. I got an Indian once. I don't know where that came from. Not Chaldean, no. Never Chaldean.

02:58:32 - 02:58:34 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. What's up, Hana?

02:58:36 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I just wanted to say that if that girlfriend is Latina, you better run. Run the opposite direction. and never looked back. That's the best advice I can offer you.

02:58:45 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 1:

She'll get killed, I'm telling you, right?

02:58:47 - 02:58:48 | Speaker 3:

I can't fight either.

02:58:50 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call and the advice. We appreciate it. We're looking out for her. All right, I got a contest. This is what I want to do for the last segment of the show. The idea, tell me what your thoughts are on this one here. I won't say a peep in honor of Easter and peeps. Do you guys like peeps? Oh, no. No? Okay.

02:59:11 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 2:

Every once in a while, I can have one.

02:59:12 - 02:59:14 | Speaker 1:

I know people that either love them or hate them.

02:59:14 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever put them in the microwave? Yeah.

02:59:17 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 1:

Only place I put my peeps in the trash.

02:59:20 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 2:

So Wes taught the kids this. You put two in the microwave and you stick a toothpick on each side towards each other and they get really, really big and one of them will pop the other.

02:59:30 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 1:

So did you see the latest Crocs one where the person put Crocs in hot water and they shrunk the Crocs and then they put them in the refrigerator and they came right back up again?

02:59:43 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 2:

Is that real?

02:59:43 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 1:

I saw it.

02:59:44 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 2:

That does not feel real to me.

02:59:46 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

All right, real quick, let me get to this contest. I'm going to tease this. In honor of Eastern Peeps, what's the biggest secret that you're keeping and who is keeping the secret the longest? So everybody has some kind of a secret that you could be keeping.

Which are better? Do the yellows taste any different than the pink ones?

03:00:56 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 4:

No, the pink ones are the best ones. The pink ones taste like a red 40. They're disgusting. I don't care.

03:01:02 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 2:

Red 40. They're like 40 grams of sugar per peep, though. All right. I won't say a peep. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

03:02:37 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 2:

Christina, don't be judged. Christina, I won't say a peep. What's your secret?

03:02:45 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Hello. So I've been with my husband 17 years, married for 15 this September. 16 years ago, I smashed our car the backside of the bumper in a parking lot, did a hit and run. Two weeks later, we were going to Subway. We walked out of Subway, and he seen the car, like, hit on the backside. And I was like, these bastards. And they left the parking lot. It was a hit and run. So he thought we got hit in the subway parking lot, but really it was me.

03:03:17 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Well, you did a hit and run, though, too. You hit somebody and left?

03:03:23 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

03:03:24 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. And how many years have you been keeping that a secret from him?

03:03:29 - 03:03:29 | Speaker 3:

16.

03:03:30 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 2:

16 years. I mean, honestly, the more serious one is not so much your husband thinking that somebody hit you guys. The more serious one is there's somebody out there that you hit, and you're lucky that they didn't get your license plate, right?

03:03:42 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 3:

No kidding. And he's still, the secret is still there today. And we still talk about the hit and run that happened in the subway parking lot.

03:03:51 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Somebody listening right now, like, I told you! Do you feel better that you've told somebody about this because you've had to keep this a secret for 16 years?

03:04:00 - 03:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I kind of do feel better. I hope he doesn't hear this, but I definitely do feel better.

03:04:05 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 2:

It's going to bring up a fight 16 years later. Alyssa, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning. I won't say a peep. What's your secret?

03:04:15 - 03:04:57 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Well, my sister is 35, so this secret's been 35 years. My mom had some troubles with some wild things when she was younger. and my sister's dad is actually not her father her father is my mother's cousin oh no his life in prison and they had some difficult growing ups uh and so no one knows this secret besides my mom my sister and i why why okay wait a second how did how did you know

03:04:57 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

about the secret um

03:05:00 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, when I was young, my sister and I, I was probably about 9, 10 years old, we were rifling through all these old boxes of memories, like our baby stuff, the bracelets and the little packets of hair and things, and we found my sister's birth certificate. And my father was not.

03:05:23 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 2:

Your dad does not know about this?

03:05:26 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 3:

No. he's never seen the birth certificate no the paper that's wild and my sister has his last name

03:05:36 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 2:

so this is interesting because i i also i mean i guess and you said your mom was going through stuff your mom got pregnant by her cousin yes was it like a close cousin like first cousin or something yes yes were they had were they having a relationship with each other no no there was no

03:05:57 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 3:

relationship nobody knows that this happened they just was they just had there was cocaine involved i i don't like to bring up drugs but they had so there was a night of partying one thing led to

03:06:09 - 03:06:33 | Speaker 2:

another and your mom and her cousin started having sex oh yeah wow that's a wild one how many years has it been uh 35 oh my gosh talk about doing a bump but you know there's no jokes on this one i don't think you can joke on that one even even i wouldn't be that bad this is too good by itself

03:06:33 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 1:

am i what you're talking about it very publicly yeah because we're doing a thing called i won't

03:06:41 - 03:07:03 | Speaker 2:

say a peep i i i know is somebody gonna hear this you're basically she's wondering will somebody hear this no okay let's hope not let's hope that they listen to another the country music station um that's a good one that's a really good one voice disguise this next one c are you there c hello i'm here yes i won't say a peep what's your secret

03:07:03 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 1:

um a long time ago my friend was dating this girl she was not a good person And he had texted me and told me that he wanted to get out of the relationship and he didn't like her and he actually liked me, but I thought it was too messy, so I never said anything. And then a week later, he was with her in the car and she was high and ran a red light. And the lady who hit them killed him on impact. And I never had the heart to tell her because she was grieving.

03:07:51 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 2:

This one is even crazier than the last one. Your friend's boyfriend told you that he had something for you.

03:08:00 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 1:

And wanted to break up with her.

03:08:01 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 2:

And wanted to break up with her. Then he and her are driving together. The guy gets killed in a car accident. While she's grieving, you still hold this secret. Are you still friends with her?

03:08:12 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, she moved to a different state. But she was never a good person. I was never her friend. I was pissed.

03:08:21 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how long has it been that this happened?

03:08:25 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 1:

03:08:27 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you? I think that you're great for not telling.

03:08:30 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I do, too.

03:08:31 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 2:

Like, I think that would have been awful to say that to her after this. Like, let him die as a good memory, you know? That's horrible.

03:08:40 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was with his mom after, too, and helped him breathe.

03:08:44 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 2:

I always feel like this is the case. Like, I feel like when somebody does something like that, like, what brought the car accident and the death to them? You know, it's weird to say this, but did...

03:08:55 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she was high and ran through a red light, and she had connections with some police officers.

03:09:02 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:09:02 - 03:09:09 | Speaker 1:

And thankfully, somehow, she didn't end up in jail because the person that ended up hitting them blew over the legal limit.

03:09:09 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 2:

Do you think in this, I'm not trying to put anything on you, but do you think that if you would have said, yeah, I'm interested in you, and he broke up with her at that moment, he would not have been in the car and never driving with her when he got killed?

03:09:25 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 1:

I have no idea. I have to live with that.

03:09:29 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 2:

I know. Did you ever think about that, though, during this, or did I just horribly make you think of that?

03:09:35 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 1:

I've never considered it, but I just hated her for a long time.

03:09:41 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry that I made you think of that, but that's serious. I didn't think about that, right?

03:09:44 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 1:

My mind actually immediately went there, so it wasn't just you.

03:09:47 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm thinking right away.

03:09:48 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Because he wouldn't have had any reason to be with her.

03:09:50 - 03:09:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, stop. Now you're just going to move on to the next call.

03:09:54 - 03:09:56 | Speaker 1:

I wasn't going to say it out loud.

03:09:56 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 2:

It would have saved his life.

03:09:57 - 03:09:58 | Speaker 1:

That's the difference.

03:09:59 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Margaret, hi.

03:10:00 - 03:10:10 | Speaker 5:

It's a, I won't say a piece. Hey, you're the joker over there that just told Alyssa about the cousin effers. What's going on, Margaret?

03:10:11 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 9:

Well, I'm just saying that my mother and my father had split up when I was a little girl. And then they got back together. And as it turns out, my brother is not my father's child. My mother took that secret to the grave. whose child is he i have no clue no clue i have asked her best friend um you know my mom is now passed she's been gone since 99 how'd you know how'd you find out i had his dna done i had my brother's dna done and it came back that he was only my half brother do you know what the worst

03:10:50 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 5:

thing that ever happened to this world yeah 23 and me exactly yeah right that oh i don't care i

03:10:55 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 9:
