So we were having a discussion before the show started. Mike is getting ready to go on a road trip with his family.

00:05:00 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 3:

family uh he he does the annual uh mike alley the kids and the in-laws trip and uh i didn't realize it was a road trip so you guys are actually hitting the road for this yeah yeah we're packing

00:05:14 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 4:

up the uh the sorrento and heading out for i think thursday night in a couple weeks here it's so

00:05:21 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

funny every time you say that i always forget that kia has a car called the sorrento because

00:05:25 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 4:

i think that you're saying silento or yeah so no no uh this is that's all i'm gonna think about now is silento that's right remember that song yeah that's right yeah bye uh and so we are headed to um to florida and we're gonna take a couple days we were gonna drive straight through uh but we're gonna take like two days to drive through and then um and then kind of stop along the way But my son right now is potty trained, but he's only, like, an hour, maybe 45 minutes amount of time before he has to go to the bathroom again. And other than that, like, he's good. But if he hits that 45 minute to an hour mark, there is a good chance that he's going to have an accident. He's so good, he'll race to the bathroom if he's, like, not in a car or something. But we've never gone this distance with him in the car. Oh, yeah. And we're, like, fearful that he's going to—

00:06:25 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

It's going to ruin it.

00:06:26 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, he's going to have an accident somewhere, or we're going to have to, like, try to rip off the road and go to the bathroom. So my wife showed me this—it's called a car potty, basically, and it's for kids. So, like, you pull to the side of the road, or I guess you couldn't do it while you're driving, but you pull to the side of the road, and he goes to the bathroom, and you basically hold on to it until you get to an actual toilet and then throw it away. And I think this is the most disgusting thing in the entire world. Wait a second.

00:06:53 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

That's a popular thing, Mike. You put it in the back of the car. Like in the back of the SUV.

00:06:58 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Wait. You can get hot and sweaty and smell?

00:07:00 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 3:

What is this thing? Because I want one for me. It's like a little portable. This is for a kid?

00:07:03 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

It's like, you know the little teeny tiny potties that you use with kids when they're potty training anyway? It's that, essentially. A lot of my friends did that, and they would put, Mike, they would use like Target, like plastic Target bags or plastic Kroger bags. and they would put that in there when they knew it was going to be a poop and then tie it up almost like a doggy bag. And then hold on to it? Do you know what I mean? But at least then it's just not out in the open to smell until you get to your next spot. Or they would just run through a place that had fast food or whatever that had a trash can outside and dump it in there.

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 4:

It just feels like there's potential for it to spill everywhere. Everywhere.

00:07:46 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 3:

How long of a drive is this that you're going to? Where are you going again?

00:07:49 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

Florida, Miramar Beach, Florida. So it's about 15 hours.

00:07:52 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. And with kids' bladders and everything, it would take you more than 15 hours if you had to stop every single time. Yeah. But as a grown man who has found that after turning 45 years old, I have to pee a lot for some reason now. And after 50 now, I have to poop a lot, too. So it's like really it comes out of both, you know, the front and the back. I would love to have one of these in my car. I've often thought that the car dealers, you know, the people from the big three, you guys should put where you can, like, lift the seat up and there could be a commode or something, like, right there.

00:08:29 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Port-a-potty. Yeah.

00:08:31 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Something inside of your vehicle.

00:08:34 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, you could buy one of these little Mickey Mouse ones and have it. Who's to say there's an age limit on them? There's not. I know.

00:08:40 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 4:

It just feels like it'd fill up fast. And then there's always that. Like, it's like a pot bottle. If you fill up a pot bottle fast enough, it's going to spill everywhere. Or a Gatorade bottle or whatever you've used in the past to pee.

00:08:52 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Remember, was it a month or two months ago that I had to pee so bad that I did it in a water bottle?

00:08:58 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:58 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 3:

And I actually showed you guys all that. You guys all thought it was kind of disgusting and stuff.

00:09:02 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

But, Mike, you are at that point in potty training where it's like he gets it. He's got it. You do not want to go backwards. No. So whatever it takes to keep the train moving forward, you do.

00:09:15 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Because he's had an accident since, like just a little one. And the disappointment in his face when he does it is like, ah, I guess I got to go back to diapers now. Like you can tell he's like, every time we celebrate him when he goes to the bathroom on the potty, he's like, yeah, I'm a big boy now, I'm a big boy now. And if he goes a little bit in his pants, he just goes, ah, and has a moment where he's super sad and bummed about it. I don't you're absolutely right I don't want to go back to that Steven what's

00:09:42 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 1:

going on what's up good morning everyone I went down to Florida myself too and I had the same issue I had to stop like every four hours in order to let the kids go leave they fell really how long how long did it take you

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 2:

to get there past what it would have taken you if you didn't have to stop so much?

00:10:05 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 5:

Probably an extra hour.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

00:10:08 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

16 hours.

00:10:09 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

So would you ever do this? Would you ever put one of these things in your car, like so your kids are crapping in the car?

00:10:16 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 5:

No, I would have a catheter.

00:10:19 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Is there a way that you can get their pediatrician to put a catheter in your kids?

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't think so.

00:10:25 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 2:

I would love, by the way, this for myself. How about yourself, Stephen? Do you have to go to the bathroom from time to time and you don't feel like pulling over?

00:10:32 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 5:

No, not necessarily. I can pretty much hold it for a while.

00:10:36 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

What about an adult diaper on you and a diaper back on Milo, Mike?

00:10:41 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

No diapers, no. I don't know. I was thinking about that lady who was an astronaut and she was riding around with her diaper on for a long time. Remember that? She was crazy.

00:10:51 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:10:54 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 3:

Crazy or crazy smart? No, no. She was actually like cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. Do you remember that story, what she was doing?

00:11:02 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

I do remember that. She drove, like, across the country, right? And she was with a diaper on. They found her.

00:11:08 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

But wasn't there, like, a love triangle? Yes. It was a part of that story.

00:11:12 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 2:

That's a good story to recall. Thank you, Stephen. Take care of yourself. Yep. Betty, what's up? Some advice for Mike?

00:11:20 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 6:

Yes. So you can buy, they're called Kermode liner.

00:11:25 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

00:11:25 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 6:

And they have beads in them that will absorb the urine and delete the odor and you tie it up and then you get rid of it later.

00:11:32 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh. So it could sit in the car for like hours and hours and hours and it doesn't smell at all? It's like poop bags that you use for your dogs.

00:11:40 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

Well, yes, they're used in a nursing home.

00:11:43 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Where do you buy this stuff at? I want one too.

00:11:46 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 6:

You can get them on Amazon. They're called commode liners.

00:11:49 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 1:

Commode liners, Mike. All right. You see me walking around with green bags, little green commode liners at your charity event Thursday. You don't think anything of it, yeah?

00:11:58 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 2:

You know what? It's going to take you, what, two hours to get to that? Two and a half hours, maybe something like that? Test it out. Have a test drive. All right. Can you imagine Mike can't get it in the little liner thing, and he comes, and he's got pee all over himself. Nicole, you actually have one of these things that Mike's talking about.

00:12:16 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 4:

We don't have a commode, but we use a urinal in the car, like a little portable urinal that has a cap, because most of the time it's going to be pee that they have to do. So that way it contains that it doesn't spill around in our two-and-a-half-year-old's house when he has to pee in the car. We just pull over anywhere and let him pee in the urinal. That's a great idea.

00:12:36 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 3:

And you said it has a cap so nothing can spill?

00:12:38 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're, like, super cheap on Amazon. You just type in urinal, and you'll see urinals, and they have a little spout, so it helps that they're not good at aiming.

00:12:49 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 2:

When I had my heart surgery in the hospital, I wanted to take this with me because I thought it was so great. They had a handle on it. It actually would have been a great lemonade pitcher for the summertime, except for you to have to make sure that it was lemonade. And you put it basically on your ding-dong, and you put it in there, and then you pee, and then you cover it. Is that what you're talking about?

00:13:12 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, it's sort of like that. The ones on Amazon kind of have a wider spout, so it works well for a little kid who might not be great at aiming.

00:13:22 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. Listen, little kids. How about big kids? Mike, how's your aim been?

00:13:27 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

I still use the Cheerios to try to aim in the toilet. What's going on, Miranda?

00:13:32 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning.

00:13:33 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Welcome to the show.

00:13:35 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. We drove across country to Yellowstone with a child that was potty training. We bought a, it's basically a five gallon bucket with a toilet seat on it. And it comes with these bags that are filled with something that turns all the liquid into gel. It was a lifesaver.

00:13:53 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What a good idea.

00:13:55 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. It was amazing.

00:13:58 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 2:

The whole family had to use it. Where was it stored in the back of your vehicle?

00:14:04 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 7:

Just in the back of the trunk. And then it comes in these, like, Ziploc-type bags, too. So you stuff the, basically, garbage bag back into the Ziploc, zip it up. It doesn't smell. It was fantastic.

00:14:15 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

So, Miranda, a quick question for you. Would you continue to be driving while somebody's climbing over the third seat and going back to the little toilet you had there?

00:14:26 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 7:

I mean, that would be illegal.

00:14:28 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 2:

But.

00:14:29 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 7:

Did you do it? She didn't say no. Possibly. Yeah.

00:14:34 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Was it weird, though, for that person? Because I get stage fright if I know that there's somebody outside waiting for my stall to use.

00:14:41 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we had five people in the car, so it was definitely awkward. All eyes are on the line. No eye contact.

00:14:46 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 2:

And there's no fan.

00:14:49 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 7:

And there's no fan, yeah.

00:14:50 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 2:

Did it smell up the car?

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 7:

During, yes. Afterwards, no.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Did somebody have a...

00:15:00 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 3:

an extra stinky one than the other person did not that i can recall this was years ago okay somebody made a stinky all right thank you for the call take care all right thank you we'll see you mike uh the sorrento does is it big enough to be able to to hold one of these things yeah we

00:15:18 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 4:

just hold down the the third row she hit my wife has no idea now i'm gonna be in the back doing that we're never gonna stop to go to the bathroom i didn't know adults could do this too um are we

00:15:29 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 3:

on the air in Grand Rapids or no? I don't know.

00:15:32 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 4:

We're having a little issue in the studio right now.

00:15:34 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 3:

Are you guys back on or no? I think we got back a few minutes ago.

00:15:39 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 4:

Is it normal normal?

00:15:40 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 6:

Because I'm not going to switch stuff.

00:15:42 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Mark, what am I doing here? I guess we blew a fuse or something like that. Oh, everything on two? All right, perfect. We're good. Can you guys hear us? Hello? Check one, two? Yeah. Test one, two? All right, good. It literally blew... By the way, I did such an amazing job. I just want you guys to know, give me and Janet. He needs to act like he needs to pat him back. It was crazy. Everything in the studio went dark. Like the moment that I said, welcome, and it was like. Dark.

00:16:09 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 4:

Like somebody pulled the plug in here.

00:16:11 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 3:

It's like, I'm telling you, I think that at that particular moment, I was sitting there thinking to myself, I'm like, was there lightning or something that kind of knocked us off there? But, and Mike, you were great, by the way. the transition of probably going from music to whatever you had to go to. Great job.

00:16:28 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 4:

I thank you.

00:16:29 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome.

00:16:30 - 00:16:40 | Speaker 4:

I love doing your topics. I know. That was impressive. Incredible. This is not good radio. I know it. Every other time when it's normal, like I can't talk at all, but for some reason.

00:16:42 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. Let's go.

00:16:45 - 00:16:46 | Unknown:

Back in the day.

00:16:46 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 5:

What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:47 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, speaking of peeing, Mike, this was the year that Justin Bieber was caught peeing in a mop bucket in a New York restaurant.

00:16:57 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 6:

I never remember him pissing

00:16:59 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 7:

in a restaurant. Everybody does that. What are we? My kids!

00:17:07 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 3:

Kristen bell and Dax Shepard got married in this year, aren't they the cutest

00:17:13 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 8:

couple ever?

00:17:15 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't think there's ever a place that I wouldn't be PDAing. My mom drove us.

00:17:21 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 1:

I think it would be weird if we But not that chill Not Netflix and chill

00:17:24 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 3:

And the big song was from Mio I haven't heard this song in forever

00:17:33 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 6:

It's a great song

00:17:34 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 3:

What year was it?

00:17:39 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 5:

Let me love you Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened 844-MOJO-LIVE Oh, it was that time when Justin Bieber peed in a bucket at a restaurant

00:18:04 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 3:

instead of going into the toilet.

00:18:06 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 6:

I never remember him pissing in a restaurant.

00:18:09 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 7:

Everybody does that.

00:18:11 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 3:

This was during his classy period of his life. Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, both Michiganders. as Governor Whitmer will say, they are married in this year. They got married this year.

00:18:25 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 8:

I don't think there's ever a place that I wouldn't be PGA-ing.

00:18:27 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 2:

My mom drove us. I just think it'd be weird if we hooked up in the back while my mom was driving. Don't you think?

00:18:33 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 1:

Eyes forward. She's chill, but not that chill. Not Netflix and chill.

00:18:37 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 3:

And the big song was from Neo. All three things happened in the same year. Brad, what year was that?

00:18:44 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 4:

Was it 2013?

00:18:45 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 3:

It was. Congratulations.

00:18:48 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:18:48 - 00:18:49 | Speaker 3:

What gave it away?

00:18:51 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 4:

It was The Banger by Neil.

00:18:52 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 3:

Wasn't it? It's such a good song. He had so many songs, so many hit songs. Congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with tickets to AEW, All Elite Wrestling, coming to Little Caesars Arena, plus a $50 door dash code for freaking delicious fried chicken tenders from the Tender Shack. Let's get saucy. Congratulations.

00:19:16 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. Thank you so much.

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 7:

Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what's going on in the Dirty on the 30?

00:20:03 - 00:20:16 | Speaker 4:

Well, yesterday, the Buffalo Bills said Damar Hamlin, who nearly died on the field back in January when his heart stopped after a hit, has been medically cleared to play football again.

00:20:16 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 1:

This event was life-changing, but it's not the end of my story. So I'm here to announce that I plan on making a comeback to the NFL. You know, my heart is still in the game. I love the game. It's something I want to prove to myself, not nobody else. I just want to show people that fear is a choice. You know, you can keep going in something without knowing what's at the end of the tunnel. You just keep putting that right foot in front of the left one, and you keep going. I want to stand for that. It's incredible.

00:20:41 - 00:20:45 | Speaker 4:

It is incredible. He also revealed the exact cause of his on-field cardiac arrest.

00:20:46 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 1:

The diagnosis was commodio cortis. It's a direct blow at a specific point in your heartbeat that causes cardiac arrest. And five to seven seconds later, you fall out. And that's pretty much what everyone's seen January 2nd of this year.

00:21:02 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 4:

Bill's GM, Brandon Bean, also commenting.

00:21:05 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 2:

He is cleared, resumed full activities, just like anyone else who was coming back from an injury or whatever. So he's fully cleared. He's here. And he is of the mindset, he's in a great headspace to come back and make his return.

00:21:20 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 6:

I'm all for a great story and, you know, really just going back at it and what he's trying to do. But this is a terrible idea. This is an absolutely terrible idea. He should not go back to playing the NFL at all. Unless he's going to be like the kicker or something super sick. Unless he's going to do something that doesn't get your heart rate out. Nobody's going to touch him. You think nobody's going to hit him at that angle again at that particular moment? I'd be so scared.

00:21:43 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 7:

But not necessarily the hit that will cause it. It's the moment that will cause it. And honestly, there are many of our listeners that probably have faced some kind of medical issues, but heart issues specifically. I mean, what do you do? You can't go back and do what you love?

00:22:00 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 6:

If there's a million other things that you could do still in the NFL, there's a million things he could do in the NFL, and everybody would hire him. If he dies on that field now, which, heaven forbid, I hope that never happens. I don't even like putting it in the universe. This is going to be a much bigger story.

00:22:15 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 7:

Well, I will say this. I'm sure that the doctors know more than we know. That's true. But I will say this. If I'm going to die, I would rather die doing what I love, and I love that he's able to get back up and do it again. And yeah, so I mean, it's cool. And you know what? I hope it does become like a big movie or some kind of a story. And he makes some money off of that. I will. Oh, for sure.

00:22:34 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday, Lotto hopped on social media to shoot down the claims that she had photoshopped a picture from her Coachella set to make the crowd look bigger. You hear this story?

00:22:43 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no.

00:22:44 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 4:

So speculation about this photo started to grow like right after her performance on Sunday. People noticed that the same people were being replicated in the crowd on both edges of the photo. You saw some fans on the left side of the photo. You saw the same exact fans on the right side of the photo. Lotto's explanation, she tweeted, never photoshopped a crowd. I expanded it so it would fit in my Instagram without getting cut off, but it was clearly effed up, so I didn't end up using it and just posted the wrong version by accident on Twitter, babes. That's great. I don't believe it. Who would ghost Chris Evans? It has happened. He says he got dumped that way back in the day where a girl just slowly stopped communicating with him. Chris Evans.

00:23:38 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 5:

Chris Evans was ghosted? Yep. I think I prefer being ghosted because you can make up any story you want. I've kind of had the slow decline in text responses and time and you just know the person is kind of pushing you aside casually. You tell yourself a story. You know, whatever you got to do to get by.

00:23:55 - 00:24:08 | Speaker 4:

He's starring in a new movie with Ana de Armas called Ghosted. By the way, it's out in theaters this weekend. And someone busted through the fence surrounding the White House this week. That's someone, a toddler.

00:24:08 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 3:

The White House is among the most secure complexes in the world. But today, the North Lawn was breached by a toddler. The curious kiddo squeezed his way through the metal fence on the north side of the mansion. Access to the White House complex was temporarily restricted while Secret Service officers reunited the child with his parents on Pennsylvania Avenue. This may be the first successful intrusion onto White House grounds since the fence height was doubled to 13 feet in 2019.

00:24:38 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 7:

God, is that amazing? Do they have, like, Secret Service tackle the kid like they would if it was a grown person?

00:24:45 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 4:

They were tackled, but they definitely had to run after him to get him.

00:24:49 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 7:

I don't think that they ever would think that that could be the possibility, right? That somebody could squeeze through the fence.

00:24:55 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 4:

But think about it. Some of these little, I mean, they can. They're so teeny.

00:24:57 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Those fences are like decorative.

00:25:00 - 00:25:03 | Speaker 1:

But they are, you know, obviously watching them at all times. You can do it.

00:25:03 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mama. You and your new man are so happy. Which is why he's DMing his ex-girlfriend behind your back. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9. A mojo in the morning.

00:41:17 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 1:

There's a thief in Megan's house. And I think we know who that thief is. It's Coraline, her dog. No

00:41:29 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 5:

I wish she'd probably be easier to deal with You can just kick her to the backyard I can't seem to do that with the real thief Which just happens to be my best friend I feel like you need to preface this And be like I love my brother But I am on the verge of committing murder

00:41:46 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

By the way The picture on our Facebook, Instagram And stuff of you guys When you guys were out the night before last Is great of the two of you guys hanging out with each other i feel like you guys need a reality show no no because i think

00:42:05 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 5:

people would be honestly surprised to know how nasty we can be to each other which i think we find funny but other people would be like wow that's that's intense what's the age difference with you guys six years he's six years older than me even though everybody thinks he's the baby which is yeah he does have a baby face though do you hate that by the way oh i mean women already

00:42:27 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 1:

hate the fact that people think that they you know are aged differently than men or you know it's always like the guys lose weight faster than women you know stuff like that but to have your own brother your older brother look like your younger brother really has got to piss you off

00:42:43 - 00:43:07 | Speaker 5:

I think the most disrespectful part is like a lot of people just assume we're close in age because we're close together and then when I'm like oh no there's six years between us and then people look at both of us and I go it's not obvious six years is a lot of years you guys it's more the question because they know it's rude to ask but at that point we've all realized you want to ask and the answer is i'm the youngest one thank

00:43:07 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

you very much all right let's get to the to the theft part of this one because i think that there's a lot of listeners that check out our show every single day that when we talk about certain things you guys can relate to things more than others right this is one of those ones where i know that there's a lot of people who live in a home or an apartment with any roommate or whoever it might be

00:43:27 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 5:

you can relate to. And that is the food theft. And it's not a one-time situation. When I tell you my brother steals all of my food, I mean he steals all of my food. I love the day after Valentine's Day because that's the day I get to go out and buy myself all the fancy chocolates I would not pay full price for get them half off well i bought this like huge box of chocolates for myself and he ate 48 out of the 50 pieces of chocolate and it's driving me nuts and then just constantly here's here's something oh he would be so mad to know that i said this on the air but i'm mad at him so i'll say it we have to have separate jars of peanut butter in the house because we have nearly come to fistfights over the peanut butter jar and who ate all of the freaking peanut butter because he'll eat it all so i have to physically hide a jar of peanut butter in my house just so he won't eat it all i call him my little like what's a creature that eats everything at night raccoons he's the little raccoon that lives with me because every morning i wake up and something is just inevitably gone whether it's my leftover wings whether i just can't have anything in the house it got to the point where the the man started putting food in my own bedroom while I wasn't there and shutting the door just so he didn't have to see it. Because if he saw it, he'd probably be tempted to eat it. And I'm like, my room is not a pantry. I have a pantry. Leave it in the pantry.

00:45:00 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 7:

Do you have to hide food from him? Because this is something that's always funny is when people will say that they have to hide food from family members like brothers or sisters or parents with their children. You have to hide the food so that they don't eat it because then when you want to go eat it, it's never there. Like the chocolate, like you should have hid the chocolate from him.

00:45:20 - 00:45:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, but why is that my responsibility? It should be your responsibility as an adult to have some self-control, okay? Because you don't just walk into a store and go, you know what? You should lock everything up. I'm here.

00:45:33 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, well, you know what? Now you have to be. You know.

00:45:35 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 3:

You learned your lesson.

00:45:36 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 7:

You have to treat your food at home like the razors at Walgreens. Lock them up. It's behind the plastic, right?

00:45:43 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 3:

I need a padlock in my own kitchen. You only get in in these hours. Other than that, you've got to pace yourself.

00:45:50 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 7:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. So how many chocolates did he eat?

00:45:55 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 3:

48 out of the 50 pieces.

00:45:58 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 7:

He left you, too.

00:46:00 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 3:

48. And he didn't leave me, too. I just took two and put the box away, and then he ate the other 48.

00:46:07 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys remember when you were growing up and you got boxes of chocolates for whatever occasion or your parents did?

00:46:14 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:46:14 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 1:

Would you bite the bottoms to see what the filling was inside and then put it back if it wasn't the strawberry stuff? Because that was the only one that I would actually eat.

00:46:22 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 7:

It was Fannie Mae chocolates for us. Okay? And what we would do is we would, and my kids do it too sometimes because my sisters will buy it still because Fannie Mae is like a Chicago thing. They'll put their finger on through the thing. Like they'll poke their finger through it to see if they got the chocolate, the milk chocolate with the vanilla inside of it.

00:46:39 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, see, I liked the strawberry and I would just bite a little corner of the bottom. And if it wasn't the strawberry, if it didn't have like the guide.

00:46:44 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 7:

So it looked like you had rats in your house.

00:46:45 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

You know, now they're fancy and they've got the guide and it tells you which one is which.

00:46:51 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 7:

Blake, what's going on? How you doing? Hey, Blake. Hi, how are you doing? Good. Blake, quick question for you. We're going to say this because Megan's brother's name is Sean. Who's the Sean in your house?

00:47:06 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, that would be my old roommate.

00:47:09 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 7:

No.

00:47:09 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 4:

My wife actually kept a pantry in her bedroom closet just to keep people from stealing her food.

00:47:18 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 7:

So your wife?

00:47:19 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like shelves and everything, pantry. Full pantry

00:47:24 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 7:

And wait When she said From keeping people From eating the food Is she keeping you From eating the food Or is she keeping Like do you have roommates

00:47:31 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 4:

We used to have roommates And they would eat everything

00:47:35 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 7:

Everything Oh yeah

00:47:37 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 4:

They Whatever They was like Our food was their food

00:47:40 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 7:

That's amazing That's a Genius thing For apartment complexes And you know Builders of homes Put A refrigerator And put a pantry In the bedroom With a padlock on it

00:47:52 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 3:

I am not in college. No.

00:47:55 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Michelle?

00:47:57 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:47:58 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 7:

How you doing?

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

00:48:00 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 7:

Good. Who did you have to hide food from?

00:48:03 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 2:

My husband.

00:48:04 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 1:

What specifically do you have to hide? What's he love?

00:48:08 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 2:

Everything. Cookies, gummy candy. One of our first dates, I left gummy candy at his house. And the next day that I came over, I was like, hey, where's the candy? He was like, I ate it all. I was like, what?

00:48:23 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 1:

Bastard. Where's your hiding spot?

00:48:27 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 2:

I have a spot in the pantry behind everything, and there's still Halloween candy back there.

00:48:34 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 6:

So you know what? I think my wife does this too, but she puts it on a shelf that's too high for me to reach.

00:48:41 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 7:

She knows I won't get a stool again. Michelle, that's what you need. You need to have a husband that's a little smaller than you.

00:48:49 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's great. I don't kill him.

00:48:51 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, it's like children. You've got to have, you know, you put everything strategically higher. What's up, Rob? How are you doing?

00:49:00 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing good, guys. I love listening to the show. Nice to talk to you guys. We love you, too.

00:49:04 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 7:

Thank you, buddy. We appreciate it.

00:49:07 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 5:

Mike can probably maybe attest to this because he's got the younger kids, but the kids are the Steve. Like, me and my fiance got a room downstairs, and they have the upstairs room. So, like, sometimes we go to bed before them because we got to work, and, of course, their kids, sometimes they try and stay up, and you come up the next morning, and there's certain food gone, so they're the skis. Yeah.

00:49:30 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 6:

You know that cupboard that's right above the fridge that nobody knows what it's for? Yes, it's like a half cupboard. Yeah, that's where everything that the kids can't get to go.

00:49:39 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Dude, we got it, man. It's crazy. Sometimes they're like the night raccoons for sure.

00:49:43 - 00:49:45 | Unknown:

Yes, the night raccoons.

00:49:45 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Do you know, it's so funny. My little Smith, who's about to turn six, took the blame for I had a bunch of Easter candy that I was going to put in Easter baskets for my fiancee, Wes's kids. And all of a sudden it went missing. And I said, Smith Lyle.

00:50:00 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 3:

Did you eat all of this candy? And he just looked at me. No. No, and he said, I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry, Mom. So I thought he did. Do you know that it was actually Wes that ate the candy for his own children? And he let your son get blamed? And my poor sweet boy took the blame for it?

00:50:17 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, those stitches get stitches. Good work. Rob, thanks, buddy. You're welcome. Appreciate the call. What's up, Jill?

00:50:25 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on?

00:50:27 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, I have a funny story. about food going missing in the refrigerator, my fancy leftovers. And so often, my food was picked through. I would go to eat it the next day. So I got tired of it, and I wrote a note. I said, I have strategically placed a booger in this food. So I got up the next day to a note back to me that said, now there are two. No. That is so funny.

00:51:00 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 5:

Joelle, what's up?

00:51:02 - 00:51:15 | Speaker 3:

So my boyfriend will literally eat anything if I buy anything for myself, like candy, whatever. So I got an empty tampon box, and I would put that in the bedroom so he wouldn't go into it. Genius.

00:51:15 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's the best. Megan, that's what you got to do. You got to figure that out. Hold on a second real quick. On the phone with us, the world famous, Scott Mick, Megan's dad, is on the phone with us.

00:51:30 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. How are you guys doing today?

00:51:32 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 5:

We're doing good. Question for you. Is this something common that your son steals food from also you too?

00:51:39 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, absolutely. I've gotten to the point now when I bring leftovers home from a restaurant, I actually put them in the crisper. He doesn't go looking for fruits and vegetables. He only looks for leftovers. Yeah. It's the only place to hide anything from him. But he's not a raccoon. He's like a vacuum. whatever is available it's just amazing the amount of food he eats it's unbelievable how

00:52:04 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 5:

much he eats yeah it's not a genetic trait wow so did you ever have to like hide stuff in your bedroom kind of like how you know Megan was talking about it and people were talking about

00:52:14 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 2:

hiding in their bedroom I should have and I always felt bad for Megan because um I traveled quite a bit when when I first got divorced I was I was traveling a lot and on Sundays I would try to make a big meal so there was food for the kids to eat while I was gone yeah um and one Sunday in particular I cooked two roasts these are five pound roasts I cooked out on the grill they were so that night we probably ate maybe half of one of those roasts maybe half probably not so we had a whole meal with it the next morning I got up the other two were gone All of the meat was gone I can't imagine eating Eight pounds of meat In one year He ate eight pounds of meat Oh my god that makes me want to throw up Eight pounds I know right It's like a protein coma Oh my god yes He ate the whole damn thing And he still He wears Tiny pants

00:53:19 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

he's the skinniest one it's so freaking annoying yeah well that's the thing your metabolism

00:53:27 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 5:

your your guys's metabolism isn't good because you guys aren't able to eat any of this stuff

00:53:32 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 2:

i know okay so mojo when you were 30 years old your metabolism slowed down right oh absolutely yeah not his i think it's sped up so i think you could eat 15 pounds now and it would it's annoying as hell. Also,

00:53:48 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 3:

do you hear how angry my dad still is? This happened 15 years

00:53:52 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 2:

ago. I'm still mad.

00:53:55 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 1:

But it was

00:53:56 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 2:

eight pounds of beef.

00:53:59 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Hold on. I got to grab Rachel real quick. Rachel?

00:54:20 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes?

00:54:21 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 5:

What did you buy on Amazon?

00:54:23 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 4:

They have a food locker. It's like a plastic crate with a coat, and you can keep it in your fridge. It's small. Oh, my God. It's insane. Megan, we got to get this for you.

00:54:35 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 5:

It's a food locker to hide food from your family members.

00:54:38 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 4:

What do you put in your food locker? My kids will put their leftovers in there because my fiance will eat it when they're sleeping.

00:54:45 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 5:

The remaining pizza Goes right in there

00:54:50 - 00:54:55 | Speaker 4:

That's exactly what it is to pizza Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

00:54:55 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 5:

Alright Shannon what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30

00:54:58 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Alright so Netflix

00:55:00 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 3:

plans to phase in paid sharing in the next couple of weeks. This is their term for cracking down on all of us sharing our login and password information. Now, the decision to charge customers for sharing passwords follows a period of many, many years when the company kind of just gave us all a little wink. They knew it was happening. They let it slide. But in recent years, the billions and billions of dollars in lost revenue began to take on increasing importance, especially as financial pressures mounted in the increasingly competitive streaming space. So now they're saying, yeah, we're not going to let you do that anymore. There are going to be some rules here also. And I did not even know that you could still do this. Netflix is planning to end its DVD by mail service. So the final shipment of DVDs will be September 29th. I did that like way back in the day. I think it was what, like 2006, 2007? and they could start to do that. And I don't know, you could still do it, but you can, but no more. Come September, that's the end of it.

00:56:03 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask you a question? In your Kroger store, or Meijer, wherever, do they have the red box still?

00:56:10 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 3:

So they used to, but they don't anymore. Mine does.

00:56:12 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 1:

I think I have it in mine still. I think I saw it, and I'm like going, who still uses that? Also, who still has a DVD player?

00:56:19 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, a lot of video game systems still use it. So, like, I don't have a DVD player, but I have an Xbox.

00:56:24 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's funny. I was watching the other day They were talking about VHS tapes And we still have like all the kids Disney VHS tapes

00:56:32 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 3:

My dad still has all of mine

00:56:34 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 1:

And they were talking about And I can't remember which Disney movie It might have been a Lion King or something like that If you have like a good copy of Lion King I think it was It's going for like $300 On eBay right now

00:56:47 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 3:

Or the Little Mermaid with the penis in the castle I was going to say, do you remember that one?

00:56:51 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 2:

The thick plastic sleeves of VHS's Are actually what are worth money Not, like, the cardboard ones, but if you have those, like, chunky plastic ones. Yep, yep.

00:57:00 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Mike, are you okay? I have those. I have a lot of those.

00:57:05 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 2:

If you've got Disney ones, they go for a lot of money. I think, like, Beauty and the Beast goes for, like, 300 bucks.

00:57:11 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 3:

We have an official cause of death for Aaron Carter. The L.A. County Medical Examiner says its findings show that Aaron drowned in the bathtub of his home, which we kind of figured. But he did take generic Xanax and he inhaled this compressed, I don't even know how to pronounce this chemical, but it's the propellant that's used in cans of compressed air. So the report says he became incapacitated while in the bathtub due to the effects of the drugs and the huffing. He slipped under the water and drowned. So his death has officially been ruled accidental. Lots of people talking about Chance the Rapper this morning. He went viral after some videos went around the internet of him grinding with dancers at Carnival in Jamaica. Did you see the videos?

00:57:53 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's bad.

00:57:53 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 3:

So he's married. He's been married to model Kirsten Corley since, or Kristen Corley, excuse me, since 2019. But he's like grinding with dancers and he's touching their butts. And lots of social media reaction with people reminding him, hey, you're married. You have a wife at home.

00:58:13 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 1:

He smacks it at one point

00:58:15 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and you know, he branded himself a wife guy in the past However, some people are defending Chance and pointing out that there are, you know This is like, this is a cultural thing This is Caribbean culture This isn't him being immoral or cheating on his wife or anything like that He was doing it out in public

00:58:33 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 1:

So, Caribbean culture, you can go and just grind with a bunch of girls that are not your wife? I don't know, but that's what people are saying

00:58:40 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Kylie Jenner's fans just aren't buying it. The Kylie Cosmetics founder graces the cover of the spring-summer 2023 issue of Ulm Girl magazine and does the interview inside all about beauty, specifically natural beauty. However, one comment she made about her own face set off fans. She told the magazine, quote, I think a big misconception about me is that I've had so much surgery on my face and that I was some sort of insecure person, and I really wasn't. She said, I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I don't regret it, but I always thought I was cute. Well, critics on social media were not buying her claim that she hasn't had surgery on her face, with one person tweeting, we have eyes, but okay. Others were pointing out it was just her specific choice of wording that was actually wrong, saying this is what happens when people don't know the difference between plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancements. They're saying, Kylie, you may have not had plastic surgery, but you have had a lot of cosmetic enhancements.

00:59:49 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

Surprise and shine. Just be honest. I don't even understand. Like, nobody cares. Like, nobody cares.

00:59:56 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, be honest and also share the secret, please. Truly. Tell us.

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 2:

Also, we all know you got your booty done. It looks great. Just admit that you got your booty done. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com

01:01:01 - 01:01:22 | Speaker 1:

I have my event tomorrow. It's our Mojo's Topgolf Hackers and Whackers at Topgolf over here in the Detroit area, Logan. Maybe Mike needs to come over there and pick out, you know, some good outfits. Get a visor, Mike. Everybody was asking me if I wore a visor last week. I did not, but maybe Mike would look better in a visor. I can't. I got the bald head.

01:01:22 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if he comes on in, I can hook him up.

01:01:24 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 1:

All right. And, again, what's the name of the club?

01:01:29 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 2:

It's Maple Hill Golf. Oh, yeah.

01:01:32 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 1:

I know exactly what you're talking about. Where's that at? What are the crossroads?

01:01:37 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 2:

It's, like, in the Wyoming area, Wyoming-Granville area.

01:01:40 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay, perfect. Thanks, Logan. Enjoy SummerSlam, okay?

01:01:44 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no problem. Thank you.

01:01:46 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo on the Morning Show. I have a question to ask you guys about Venmo etiquette or whatever, you know, you use, you know, whether it's Venmo or stuff like that. So here's two situations. Been bothering me like over the last, I don't know, couple hours last night and then this morning. I picked up some food for a friend, and when I showed up at his house and we were eating, he said that he wanted to pay for his. And it came out to around $18. Actually, specifically, $18.33.

01:02:28 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:02:30 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 1:

And he said to me, he goes, how much is it? And I said to him, I go, I go, no, don't worry about it. And he goes, how much is it? I go, it's $18. Well, the receipt was there still, so he saw exactly how much it cost. I go there and look at my Venmo, and he Venmoed me $18.33.

01:02:50 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:02:50 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

Now, I'm not a greedy person. You guys know this, right? Yes. A vouch for me on this one. Yes, you're a very generous human being. All right? But $0.33 kind of bothered me. Wait, what? Because I'll tell you why. If somebody does something for you, and specifically it's $18.33, Venmo me either $18, $19, or maybe be nice. Venmo me $20 just for my time, you know? Don't Venmo me the specifics of $18.33. So it kind of bothered me a little bit. So it's the .33 that's really getting you here. It kind of, first off, I'm one person that I do not like uneven numbers, okay? I'm kind of a little superstitious with that. And actually, if you look in my Venmo, now I have an uneven change amount in my Venmo. It drives me crazy.

01:03:43 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 2:

When you transfer that to your bank account. Oh, it's going to be awful.

01:03:46 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to have to do math.

01:03:48 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 2:

No, it does it all for you.

01:03:49 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I know. But, all right, another petty thing. It's the same guy, too. I'm going to throw him under the bus one more time for something that he does. And I promise you, or I promise Chelsea, I would not say this person's name because he gets very offended when I have talked about him before on the show. Okay. So the other thing that he does that drives me crazy, what is the etiquette to if you're going out with a group of friends and somebody pays the bill, but we're all chipping in and we're all going to Venmo or Cash App or whatever it is, the money. What is the etiquette to, if you're the person that is telling them how much money it is, how long should you wait after you guys were there with each other to send them the request for their money? Because this is the other thing that this guy does. we've actually been in the restaurant and I haven't even gotten the food completely like in my mouth. And all of a sudden I'll see the alert on my phone that I've got a request from him for the money for the food.

01:05:00 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 2:

I mean, don't you think that at very least, like if I ever have this happen to me, usually what I will do is I'll say, no, and then I will never send them the request for the money. Like I usually do that from time to time, depending on how much it is. If it, I mean.

01:05:12 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 3:

If it's a ton of money, I will never send a request.

01:05:15 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 2:

If it's over like 50 bucks or something like that or a hundred dollars, I'm not, I'm definitely going to request. But I just remind them. Okay. So you just remind them.

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:05:22 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 2:

And then you say, okay. I don't know.

01:05:23 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm not, I'm not sending a request.

01:05:24 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 2:

This guy also, nameless guy, who Chelsea told me I can't say his name, he also will do the request while I'm at the meal. And everybody at the table, like there's a group of all of us, this was probably three weeks ago, we're all sitting around. And we all looked at our phones going, he just sent out.

01:05:46 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 3:

He wanted to remind you while it was top of mind.

01:05:48 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

And I'm going to be honest with you guys on this. this guy's you know this guy does well okay he does okay he doesn't need the uh you know he doesn't need that money right away it's not like that that money's going to keep him from being able to pay his bills you know why he does well yeah because he gets that 1833 immediately you're right and doesn't do 19 right instead of it yeah i mean am i out of line be honest just tell me if

01:06:17 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 3:

i'm out of line round up but the fact that you're still thinking about this and i don't even know

01:06:20 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 2:

when it happened is it drives you okay by the way i'm getting text messages from all the buddies of mine look at thank god you're talking about it say his name uh another one of our buddies uh uh buddy bill goes uh mojo just say just say his name tell everybody chelsea come on you'll be okay um people want me to call him out what do you think about this leo

01:06:43 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 6:

man mojo yeah you are actually correct thank you i like that say that's so surprised i don't think so thank you there's uh there's etiquette to it definitely i i work two jobs uh and i do not have any time to go buy stuff when i need it uh-huh have my buddy bring it to me cash cash apple five extra bucks and he's good i got him five extra bucks okay so i get i get the tip part

01:07:10 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 3:

Before I became a Costco member, my girlfriend Ashley would always go to Costco for me. So she would send me what the total was, and I would round up a couple bucks as a tip for her services. She went. She dropped it off at my house. I get that. But you didn't really do anything extra here. I picked up food. But you were picking it up anyway. I was drunk. I mean, that's what my buddy did. All right, that's fair.

01:07:30 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 6:

Let's say vape store or the food store, whatever you need, whatever I need, and I give it to him.

01:07:36 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I thought you were talking about this was already at a dinner table with a bunch of other buddies. No, no, no. But this is two different situations.

01:07:42 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 6:

I would. I need them to go give me stuff.

01:07:44 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Listen, DoorDash would have charged the guy, you know, triple the amount to do that, right? What's up, Alyssa? Hi, it's Mojo on the Morning.

01:07:54 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I just wanted to say that you definitely have to round up when someone's telling you what the cost is. Because, I mean, if you're, it doesn't take into effect the tip that you're doing or if you tip when you, you know, picked up the food. I've had this where it's happened at a bachelorette party and I told everyone what the price was. And the person who made the most money then de-leashed them out. And everyone else who made was in college still or were like, you know, teachers, they gave me way more than they needed to. But the person who made the most money was like super cheap about it.

01:08:32 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's always the person that makes the most money that's complaining about it the most. But a quick question for you. What is the amount that you should round up? So, like a couple dollars, you know, do you ever go even more than that?

01:08:46 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 5:

Normally, if it's something where it's like $18, like with this instance, I would do at least $20.

01:08:51 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:08:52 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 4:

So, I would do a couple bucks.

01:08:53 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 2:

So, you're a generous friend. And what do you do for a living?

01:08:56 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 4:

I am an environmental scientist.

01:08:58 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

01:08:59 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Like environmental regulation type thing.

01:09:01 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. You're not who we talked to yesterday, are you? During the 5 at 6.55? We got a lot of scientists listening to this show. Look at all these smart people that are out there. Thank you for listening.

01:09:12 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 3:

Do you want me to Venmo you $2 so you feel better today? Because I feel like it would really change your mood.

01:09:19 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm not. I swear to you, I'm not petty. I really am not.

01:09:23 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. That 33 cents really got you good, though. I don't know what just came out of me, but that was an accident.

01:09:30 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 1:

You know, I disagree with you, Mojo. I feel like we, you know, when you have cash or whatever, you can give someone a 20 because you can't break it. But it's Venmo. You can give them the exact amount of money. Nobody owes you money. Extra money. Agreed. Also, from now on, I'm rounding down.

01:09:48 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 2:

Alec, what's up?

01:09:50 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. How you doing?

01:09:51 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Good, buddy. What's going on?

01:09:53 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Mojo, I got to tell you, man, I would take your friends. What my friends do, if the bill's 1833.

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 3:

Before I can send a request, they'll just guess. And guess what? They're always short. So they'll send me a bill for $15 or a Venmo for $15 before I can get it out there.

01:10:12 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 2:

And you probably never ask them for the extra money, do you?

01:10:17 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah. What am I going to Venmo them for $2.50 on top of that? And sometimes I will if I'm feeling like it. But, you know, they jump the gun and they beat me to it. And they guess and they guess wrong.

01:10:28 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 2:

And the funny thing is they make it sound like they're really generous. Oh, my God, thank you so much for picking this up. I hope that this is good. And they pretend like they're actually giving you more than what it was. And you're like, wait a second, you're like $3.40 shy here or something, right?

01:10:42 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 3:

Right, because they get to be the good guy that send it first, right? Right.

01:10:47 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, I pay all my bills. Tell them to try that with their car payment.

01:10:53 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 1:

Pay a little bit less and see what GM finance will do. Yeah, but same with the car payment. and I'm not giving them that extra $0.68 or whatever. I'm paying the $0.33, $0.33, and that's it. They ain't getting any more. Now I know that this is how you treat me.

01:11:08 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Mike. All of you guys have turned your back on me. Shannon's the only one that agrees with me on this one.

01:11:13 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 6:

Well, did I?

01:11:15 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, kind of. It seemed like it. And, Michael, you don't agree with me either? Are you public on Venmo, by the way?

01:11:23 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 6:

Do you think all your transactions public?

01:11:25 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't think so. Okay. Michael?

01:11:27 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 6:

No, I think it's weird that people do leave theirs public. I don't know. No, I love it. I don't want people to know, like, what I'm doing and where my money's going. What kind of sketchy stuff are you up to? None. What are you doing? It's just, I don't know. Why are you so worried? What are you doing? Paying my babysitter.

01:11:45 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Michael, what do you think Shannon does on her Venmo that's sketchy that she doesn't want us all to see? Michael, listener, is that you?

01:11:54 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 4:

I can't even imagine what she does.

01:11:55 - 01:12:08 | Speaker 6:

I just paid for Girl Scout supplies. I paid Wes for services. I bet you did. KP paid me $20 for breakfast the other day. RIP.

01:12:09 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 2:

What?

01:12:09 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 5:

RIP? That was expensive.

01:12:11 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Michael, you wanted to disagree with me? I would pick you up just because everybody's agreed with me, except for Megan and KP and everybody else. I agree with half of it.

01:12:22 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 4:

Do you hear me?

01:12:23 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got you.

01:12:24 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

I think you're way out of line I think if we buy something together I should put exactly what the bill should be If you go to a restaurant And the bill's $18.20 You're not going to give the guy $18.50 You're going to give him $18.20 So your friend's actually doing the exact right thing See that's wrong

01:12:40 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

When I go to a restaurant And the bill is whatever $18.20 I always end up giving the person If it says 20% tip And if they put the tip on there And it says we're not talking about tips no but if it says change I always round up on that too I don't want to give the person an uneven amount of money

01:12:59 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 4:

because it's going to look weird and your bank account shouldn't affect the reality are you the same guy by the way

01:13:07 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

that leaves pennies on that little credit card I don't deal with cash at all

01:13:13 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 4:

I do everything digital these days

01:13:15 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 2:

everything digital

01:13:16 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 4:

but I tip according to the question was about the bill I think 50-50 would be fair I don't think he dripped you at all

01:13:24 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 6:

You're not supposed to say that anymore What the

01:13:28 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 2:

Check your Venmo

01:13:31 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 6:

Check your Venmo

01:13:33 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, hold on a second Shannon just paid me 33 cents Wait, hold on a second Hold on, I'm looking real quick Wait a second

01:13:44 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 6:

Wait a second, paid seven

01:13:47 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I got a Megan just gave me 33 cents Mike just gave me 33 cents KP just gave me 33 cents It's all adding up, Michael Something that KP just recently did I think that guys that are listening to this show Are going to think is really, really hot

01:14:02 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 5:

Mine's bigger than yours And I'm not talking about that thing I'm talking about my new truck, guys I just got a new car I know, it is sweet

01:14:10 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 2:

If somebody asks the question Who on the show has the biggest vehicle On the show Which vehicle is the biggest? KP has the largest vehicle

01:14:21 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 6:

By far

01:14:22 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 2:

By far out of all of us I mean, literally driving What is that? Is that a Chevy Silverado?

01:14:29 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 5:

It's a Silverado, yeah I think it's massive though Oh my gosh I have wanted a truck since I was in high school And I finally got one Thank you so much from Mona From Gordon Chevrolet I had such a good time picking up my truck And I'm obsessed with it And it's white I normally get black cars But Mona hinted towards me that it would be way too macho if I got a black truck. So I ended up going with the white.

01:14:53 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

No, I like the white. Wait a second. But why do you need a vehicle that is that big, though? Explain this to me.

01:15:00 - 01:15:26 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Maybe I have issues that I, I don't know. Driving a big car is just fun. Like, I mean, I'm not going to get it lifted or anything because that would just be like too much. But it's just big on the road. I feel safer. And, like, I also used to, like, redo furniture. And that was, like, a big thing of mine. I wanted to be able to move all my stuff on my own and not have to ask the dudes in my life for the truck. So if you're somebody on the show, you need a car or a truck, let me know I'm here.

01:15:27 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 3:

Wow. By the way, you really are a country girl because isn't that kind of a country girl thing to do to drive a pickup truck?

01:15:32 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 1:

I am a glorified country girl. I am a city girl entirely.

01:15:39 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't say I'm a – I'm not hauling any hay in that thing. Look what she looks like right now. Describe what she's doing.

01:15:45 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 2:

A trucker hat. Yeah. She's got a corduroy shirt on with the sleeves rolled in. Right.

01:15:50 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Getting out of her white Chevy Silverado.

01:15:54 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 1:

Falling out of it.

01:15:56 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeehaw. By the way, do we have any other trucker girls that are listening to the show right now? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to shout out the truck that you're driving. Now, have you found that driving this truck has come with any problems at all? Because it's much bigger than what were you driving before?

01:16:18 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 1:

I was driving a Jeep before. It was a Compass, and it was still like a pretty big car, but it's nothing compared to this. I feel like I needed my truck card taken away, though, if that's even a thing. Because less than a week of having this truck, I absolutely annihilated my trash can. Oh, my God. In my driveway. Did it dent your car? And it took out my taillight. Oh, that's the worst.

01:16:42 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 3:

Why do you, by the way, are you a normal giggler? Because you're giggling over the fact that you just took out your trash can and dentured your car. Because I'm so, that's what I do.

01:16:51 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 1:

When I feel, like, upset or awkward, I just laugh. And, like, when I hit that trash can, I was just like, of course. I feel like everyone's looking at my taillight, and I'm driving down the road like that girl. Of course, it's a girl driving that truck. The taillight's on. It's a girl. She hit the wall or something. That's how I was thinking when I was driving it.

01:17:11 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say it's a girl thing, but I might just throw this out there. You might be a bad driver. Yes. You might not be a good driver.

01:17:18 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 1:

I have a video of it, too.

01:17:20 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it funny, by the way, if I ever get, like, a new lease, I always get so worried that I'm going to get into an accident and a thing right away.

01:17:28 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 2:

Or always you get a rock to the windshield. For me, honest to God, it's like tradition. Any car I get, within the first week or two, I get a rock to the windshield.

01:17:36 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 3:

Christy.

01:17:38 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning.

01:17:39 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

Are you a trucker girl like KP?

01:17:42 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 4:

I am. I have an F-150 with a Lyft kit on it.

01:17:45 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:17:46 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 1:

Beautiful.

01:17:47 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

01:17:48 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 3:

Wow. How tall are you that you can get up into a lifted F-150?

01:17:53 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 4:

5'2".

01:17:54 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 3:

Wow, 5'2"? 5'2", oh my gosh. Do you have like a ladder or something that you have to climb up with? At least with a Jeep, you got the old crap things that you can grab onto.

01:18:05 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 1:

I can grab and climb up into it.

01:18:08 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 3:

Okay, wow.

01:18:09 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 1:

It's actually so fun hopping into it. I hold on to the top where the handle is too and swing in. I'm 5'8", though, so you've got way less inches. Yeah

01:18:19 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell you this, man Driving one of those cars with a guy next to you I bet you guys go crazy for it

01:18:25 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 1:

It happened I looked over and this guy did a double take on me Because I don't think he was expecting a chick to be driving a truck Seriously

01:18:31 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 3:

Erin, you're also a trucker girl?

01:18:35 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I used to be Before I got the husband With all the kids now

01:18:40 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

Now are you a minivan mom?

01:18:44 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 4:

Not quite More of a Shannon Mini, like, SUV.

01:18:48 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 3:

A crossover SUV. Like an SUV.

01:18:50 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:18:51 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's going to be our next, that's going to be our next shout out.

01:18:55 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 4:

I love my car. He's going to hit you. KP, you better watch out. I know. I already said it once. KP is going to hit her. I love my car. Yeah. But back in, like, 07, I was going through a messy breakup and was living in the Upper Peninsula. Happened to be a fairly petite woman. I know Mojo may think There's a bunch of snow cows out there But we're not all

01:19:18 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah So That's why So you drove around Well you had to drive around You lived in the UP If you didn't have one of those cars You weren't going anywhere You're in a sled basically

01:19:29 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 1:

I also don't know what lingo you're talking in But I feel like what you said was probably disrespectful

01:19:34 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea exactly what she said either

01:19:36 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 4:

The way she apologized afterwards I was like, was that me?

01:19:42 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 3:

By the way More skin on us means that we're warm when we're up in the UP. Roxy, what's going on?

01:19:50 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

Nothing. I was just calling in because I also have a Dodge Ram Bighorn. Woo-woo!

01:19:57 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

A shout-out!

01:19:59 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Right?

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 5:

And it's so intimidating, and people just get out of the way. I mean, I cut people off all the time, and they just move out of the way.

01:20:06 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 4:

By the way, do you pick up your kids in pickup line and just, like, run over people?

01:20:12 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. It's not even that. I don't even know how you guys park. Like, every time I drive my dad's truck, I can't. And he has a small truck. He'd be so mad for saying that, but he has, like, a shorter cab on it.

01:20:21 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you should never say that about a man, please. It's an adequate size.

01:20:25 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 1:

Find your penis for a dollar.

01:20:26 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 3:

Find your penis. One dollar. One dollar. Find your penis. Well, every time I drive it, I cannot park in a single space. I have to park a mile out from the store so that I can take up two spaces. I don't understand these giant trucks.

01:20:40 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? Oh, you're one of those. My wife hates people like you that back into parking spots.

01:20:46 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 3:

Even if you back in, you're still in two spots. It's too physically large to fit. It's not whether you're pulling it or backing it. It's too big.

01:20:53 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. I go all the way back to the line, and I have a camera, obviously, So I go right to the line, and I have a hitch. The hitch tells me exactly where to stop.

01:21:01 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 4:

Wait. The hitch tells you when it bumps into something.

01:21:04 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 5:

Exactly.

01:21:07 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 4:

Larry, what did you want to say?

01:21:10 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 1:

I honestly think that any woman driving a pickup truck is super sexy.

01:21:15 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. There is something hot about it.

01:21:18 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 1:

I always look over, and I might get caught staring a little bit. But, yeah, pretty woman driving a pickup truck is super sexy.

01:21:24 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 4:

And I know there's children listening right now, but you know that they're the control person in the relationship, right?

01:21:31 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, absolutely.

01:21:32 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah. The funny thing is that the amount of times I see guys in relationships with girls who drive big trucks like yourself, KP, and the guys driving like a little Toyota Corolla. Yeah.

01:21:45 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I went to lunch with a friend of mine who's a guy, and he was like, can I take a look at your truck? And I'm like, sure. Do you want to take it for a spin? It's funny that these guys Want to look at my truck Tony called me, our boss, Tony For 20 minutes after I got my truck Just to talk about trucks And I was like You can talk about this, I don't really know What you're talking about

01:22:09 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 4:

But I do have to say this though, honestly I do have to say this As a guy, if I met a girl On Bumble or something And we met up to go eat at a restaurant

01:22:19 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 3:

And she rolls up in a truck

01:22:20 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 4:

And I'm in a cruise A Chevy Cruze I'm probably not letting her walk me to my car You know Even though she's probably Better at walking me to my car Than me walking to the car Which one do you want me to pick up Line number What's happening here Anita Good morning how are you Fantastic Anita what's going on Are you there Anita That's Anita everybody It was nice having you on Alright she got disconnected What was Anita going to say Lydia Because you got excited with her coming on with us

01:23:02 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 2:

She said I not only drive a truck But I drive a trailer attached to it too

01:23:06 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh what the hell she got on a trailer She needs a trailer for the thing I mean how much bigger If you have that much stuff that you need to carry around With you And by the way as a guy I don't know how to back up a trailer I have no clue how to do a trailer Like, seriously, if I had to U-Haul on the back of my Chevy Tahoe, I would ask, like, I don't know, KP to back up my truck for me.

01:23:32 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 6:

You'll probably take another taillight. You want another taillight come out?

01:23:35 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 3:

You turn the wheel you want the back end to go.

01:23:39 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:23:39 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 3:

That's confusing. So if you're trying to go to the right, you turn to the right.

01:23:42 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 4:

The only problem with that is I don't even know what you turn into on icy streets and things like that. I have no clue.

01:23:50 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 3:

He can't even drive his normal car.

01:23:52 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 4:

That's true. Exactly. That's very true. Mojo.

01:23:59 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 5:

Five, four, three, two, one.

01:24:04 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 6:

Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning.

01:24:08 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 1:

This is it.

01:24:08 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 4:

All right. Are you ready?

01:24:10 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:12 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hack.

01:24:17 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:24:20 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, it's Mojo on the Morning Show. By the way, the 7 o'clock hour topics, you've got to go check out again. Five lies to tell your mom if you missed it this morning. Hysterical. Actually, did not realize that one of my really good friends, Vicky, was friends with the mom that we were going to be calling up, so I'm going to catch crap for that one. You've got to go check that out on our podcast. Also, check out Megan's food thief. Her brother called him out this morning. That was hysterical. And guess what's happening to me now since we were talking about Venmo etiquette? Are you making some money? Anybody that knows.

01:25:00 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 1:

Who knows my real name is sending me 33 cents. I love it. It's amazing. This has been actually the greatest topic. It's actually made me money this morning. I've donated it all to my lunch fund for today. I was going to say Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish, but it might only be like a dollar and who knows, change. Okay, real quick. I want to throw this out there. Remind me that at 8.20 this morning that I need to solicit for our next winner for Naughty Moms Night Out. So do me a favor. No matter what we're doing at 820, you can text me at 95500 or you can call and say, Mojo, it's 820. I'm a mom. I want to get into Naughty Moms Night Out. And then I will solicit for that and we'll get you in. So that's like 15 minutes from now. Mojo on the Morning Show, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. What did you title this next?

01:25:54 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she'll talk about Licey Lucy.

01:25:58 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 1:

Licey Lucy.

01:25:59 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 2:

Licey Lucy. No, my nine-year-old daughter does not have head lice, but she thinks she does. She is so paranoid about this because somebody at her school has lice. And I think this is the first time that she's ever even heard of it. And do you guys remember when you were little, if you heard of some sort of ailment or whatever, especially if it was going around school, you thought you had it. You became a hypochondriac. Like, this is all your little brain thinks about. And this is Lucy. she makes me check her head every single day. We were at Walgreens the other day to pick up a prescription for me and she wanted me to buy a lice removal kit. And I'm like, Lou, I have, I've checked your, your hair. You don't have lice, but she is just so terrified that she does because a little girl at school, you know, has had to spend a couple of days at home because she's got lice. And I had to laugh because as I'm getting frustrated and slightly annoyed with her, I remember when I learned about scabies in like fourth grade. Do you guys know what scabies is? I don't know what scabies are.

01:27:03 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what scabies are. I always thought that that was just what you called the little boy that you went to school with that you thought.

01:27:09 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it was explained to me in elementary school as like if you share clothes with somebody, it's these little bugs that will burrow into your skin and you get this rash. So I don't think I shared clothes with my friends for like a decade after that because I was convinced if somebody else's clothes touched me, I was going to get scabies all over my body.

01:27:25 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, somebody just corrected me. It's cooties that I thought that you called little boys. Oh, cooties aren't real. Yeah, cooties aren't real. By the way, we were last week with our friend Kim, who is a school principal, and she said that the protocols for lice is different now than it was when we were kids.

01:27:41 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know what it is.

01:27:42 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 1:

Because when we were kids, the protocols with head lice was that the kid would come to school almost with their head shaved. You know what I mean? And the kid would. But I think the protocols now are completely different. I don't think that the kids are out of school for a long time.

01:27:56 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. I don't I really don't know what it is. All I know is this little girl is consumed and head lice.

01:28:04 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

Do you know that this was something that I found out, too, well after the fact? Because you always thought that the kid who had lice was the dirty kid.

01:28:12 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 2:

No, they like it likes clean hair.

01:28:14 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The kids who have actually the cleanest hair are the ones that have.

01:28:17 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 2:

Which is why Lucy will not be getting head lice, because she hates washing her hair. Her hair smells like a dumpster.

01:28:23 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but this happened to me when I was in elementary school. I swore that I had lice. And every time I would go to the office to have them check my head, this went on for three months. I had lice, and they told me that I didn't have lice. Oh, and you did? Mm-hmm, and I did. It was the worst, and I remember exactly where I got that lice, too. Greenfield Village. Don't wear the hats.

01:28:43 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

01:28:43 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Don't wear those little prop hats.

01:28:45 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I would think that that would be the case.

01:28:48 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 3:

So it took a long time to get up.

01:28:50 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. There's a couple things that I remember from going to school. I remember that they would do lice checks if there was somebody that had lice. And then for some reason, I always remembered this in school. And you guys may not have had this, but I remember the scoliosis checks. Do you guys remember at all that you had to do that? You had to have, Megan, you had to do that?

01:29:10 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so they would like take us into a room and we had button-up uniforms. and they would have us put them on backwards and we would have to like bend over.

01:29:17 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 1:

Really? By the way, was that a Catholic school? Maybe. No, because mine was a Catholic school too. But I think it truly was, Scully, there was something with your spine to see if you had it. They checked it at a young age. And maybe all this stuff gets checked now by the doctors and they just don't do it anymore.

01:29:34 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 4:

We had to do a hearing test too at school.

01:29:36 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 1:

I feel so bad. Oh yeah, they still do all that.

01:29:38 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 2:

I'd fail that now.

01:29:39 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:29:39 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 2:

But it's one of those things like, I get where Luce is Her little brain is going with this Because even like Once we did the hearing test Or the eye test I was convinced I needed glasses Yeah I wanted glasses So bad I always wanted braces Braces, crutches, a cast Oh everyone's got that dang wrap

01:29:56 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Their foot's not even broken

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

But isn't it funny

01:30:00 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

though that every time that a kid came to school with whatever their ailment or thing was you know whatever the thing was that they had you wanted whatever that kid had no matter if it were you know something like a broken leg or or glasses um the other uh the other thing with uh the teachers that listen to the show I feel so bad for them because not only do they catch every virus that goes around in their school but friends of ours who are teachers have had to deal with like the lice thing and then you start worrying about your hair everybody's texting us that all their heads

01:30:33 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 1:

itching right now what's up amanda so when i found out that it was the whole life like to go to clean head thing i'm like of course it does because i make my daughter wash her hair every couple days so then i started extending her washes like or not extending but like i'm like don't wash your her very often but she ended up in elementary school getting it four times within a year oh my gosh i have i still she's not in elementary school she's in middle school now i have ptsd now every time she scratches her head i get so paranoid still but she doesn't have it but for any parent that does have a kid that gets lice there's actually lice salons where you can go and the professionals remove it. And let me tell you, it was my saving grace.

01:31:24 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 3:

Wow. It was amazing. What is it? It's a lice what?

01:31:29 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 1:

Salon. Salon. It's actually a salon where you take your child, and then they even do head checks for the whole family.

01:31:37 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's one by the radio station called Rapunzel's Lice Boutique.

01:31:41 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 1:

That's where I took my daughter. They have one in Ann Arbor. So I drove to Ann Arbor and took her there. They did a head check of the whole family. she was the only one that had it within an hour it was gone and we went home life-free wait that's

01:31:53 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 3:

amazing and that's all they make their money off of they don't cut hair or no no it's literally

01:31:59 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

just removing head life and it took so much stress off of us as a parent because like i spent the first time she got i spent like four hours going through her head because she of course has bright

01:32:10 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 3:

blonde hair which makes it harder to see sure wow uh and four times in a year is amazing uh too that she she had to go through that that's craziness um all right mojo on the morning show 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i've been like watching nothing but the news about this ai stuff and how scary this thing could be and it's funny because they're talking about you know um how they think that like ai basically could take out human the human race you know like that's one of their things but yeah but the wait sorry the one thing that's the way we're gonna die i want to that's what i want i want my computer to kill me it's gonna the only way it's gonna kill me is i sit in front of it so much that i i've become so obese from just being on my computer my phone all the time but but it has caused for some interesting things when it comes to the music world i mean shannon you've reported in the dirty about how artists are getting really upset because there's ai versions of songs that are out there well like the weekend um drake song

01:33:17 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 4:

that was like all over tiktok and i think they pulled it i don't think that you're you can find it anymore i think they pulled it from the internet like they yeah um but that was it is kind of crazy that i like you don't know the difference the m&m one couldn't tell the difference yeah the

01:33:33 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 3:

m&m one was wild and it was david getta that was doing it too right he was doing the with just uh Mike, you were playing around with this yesterday. What were you doing?

01:33:41 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

I was scrolling on my phone, and I found an app that is like a celebrity voice changer, but they've gotten so good at it with AI and everything that I could say something in it, and it kind of sounds like them. So I thought it would be funny if we played a game where I've read a couple of these things or whatever, and you guys try to guess or listeners try to guess who the celebrity is because I think you're going to get at least two out of the three right. Oh, I love it. One of them is going to be tough. Okay.

01:34:11 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay, hold on. A little game show here, huh? Welcome to Mike's AI game show here. Are you playing it down the line to us? Oh, no, no, no. I sent it to you. I thought you were going to play it. Oh, wait. Hold on a second. Okay. Well, where is it at? An email? Oh, it's on my phone. All right. Hold on a second here.

01:34:29 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 2:

and for like four bucks you can get like a whole list of these celebrities and if these are good like you guys if people guess them quick like i'll just spend the four bucks and then we can just play around with it a ton because i think ai genuinely is getting it's kind of starting to i

01:34:47 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 4:

was gonna say it's starting to freak me out a little bit yeah like i feel like in the past two months it's just really it's it's everywhere all right here we go hold on a second so this is

01:34:56 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

the first one here i'm just gonna play the uh you gotta listen to

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, weekday, brother.

01:35:03 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, come on. Hulk Hogan. That's easy, yeah.

01:35:05 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I wouldn't have gotten it unless it said brother. Brother. The same.

01:35:09 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

Okay, okay. That's the one I thought would be too. Mojo in the morning, weekday, brother. All right. All right.

01:35:16 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 3:

Good one there. All right, hold on. Let's try this next one here.

01:35:20 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 2:

If you ain't listening to Mojo in the morning, then something, something, watermelon sugar.

01:35:28 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on. Is that supposed to be Harry Styles?

01:35:31 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:35:32 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 4:

You said this was good? Wait, that's not a good one. That's not even British.

01:35:37 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is. And this isn't even AI. This isn't AI. This is just some app that's got bad people on there. That's calling itself AI. One more time.

01:35:46 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 2:

Mike, don't you dare get this app. If you ain't listening to Mojo in the morning, then something, something, watermelon sugar.

01:35:53 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 4:

That's a country accent. Do not give this app your money. This is theft.

01:35:58 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 3:

Is there a better one, then? I'll use that one. Did you, by the way, buy the better version of thing? Or are you just going off of the... You know how they do that sometimes with an app where it's like you can get the cheap version of it where you don't have to pay for it or you can pay like $15 a month and it's like the good one?

01:36:15 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:36:15 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 3:

I didn't buy... I didn't officially buy it yet. All right.

01:36:18 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:36:18 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 3:

One last one. One last one. At the end of this one, do you also give away something? No? No. Okay. All right. Here we go. This will be one we'll have to really try to guess.

01:36:28 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 1:

You should listen to Mojo in the morning every day.

01:36:33 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. That's not a clue. Really? I thought they were. Maybe it's just because they have a picture in it, like in the app. Who is that supposed to be? One more time.

01:36:41 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 1:

You should listen to Mojo in the morning every day.

01:36:45 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

That's Dr. Darius from GLB. I don't know. Who is that? Who is that? It's Drake. Oh, my God. Come on. I know it's not. In my head, these sounded better. Maybe it's just because I can tell who it is.

01:37:00 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 4:

Don't ever tell me that you were too busy during your day to do something. When this is what you're doing.

01:37:05 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 3:

Here, hold on a second. Just for that, we're going to do an impersonation contest here. Ready? You guys tell me who this is. Ready? You are listening to Mojo in the Morning. All right, all right, all right. Okay. Well, Matthew McConaughey. All right, you got it? All good, okay. All right, I'll do another one. Ready?

01:37:22 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 4:

What is happening?

01:37:24 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Hello, this is fun.

01:37:25 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 4:

What are you doing?

01:37:27 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 3:

This is, go ahead. Okay, you do your best impersonation. Let me do your impersonation.

01:37:33 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 4:

I cannot do impersonation. Come on. You know I can't. I'm terrible. I want to hear impersonation. I do Mike Tyson, and you guys just stare at me. I can't do it.

01:37:41 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 3:

Let's hear it. Go ahead.

01:37:43 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Mike Tyson, and I love pigeons. I can't do impersonation. That's actually pretty good. No, it's not. It's terrible.

01:37:49 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 3:

All right, Megan, do an impersonation, but don't tell us who it is, and then we have to guess.

01:37:54 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 4:

Can it be a character, or does it have to be a person?

01:37:56 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 3:

It can be, well, it would be the character from, like, a movie or something? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, as long as it's an iconic character.

01:38:01 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it is. Okay, go ahead. Help is on the way, dear. Not terrible. I refuse anybody to tell me that that was terrible. Do it one more time. Come on.

01:38:11 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Do it one more time.

01:38:13 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Help is on the way, dear. Oh, I know. This is out of my car. Yes.

01:38:19 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:38:20 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 2:

I've got one. It was not terrible.

01:38:22 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 3:

All right. Who else has got one? Anybody else? I've got one. All right, producer KP, go ahead.

01:38:26 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 2:

Here we go.

01:38:26 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Do you know the Muffin Man?

01:38:32 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I didn't know that. It's the Gingerbread Man from Shrek.

01:38:35 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's not an actor, but it counts. Okay.

01:38:38 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this, by the way, is as bad as Mike's app that he just bought.

01:38:44 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

No, I can't do characters. I just can't do people.

01:38:47 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right.

01:38:50 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

I don't think we're losing our jobs anytime soon to AI. I really don't.

01:38:54 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 3:

No, I think we might for doing this particular thing on the radio. Oh, hold on a second. Hold on. Texters are coming in and saying it is 820. It is 820. You know what that means? Moms want to go to. Hold on. Moms. Moms you want to go to.

01:39:13 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 4:

No. Who was that?

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

Naughty moms night out. All right, all right, all right.

01:39:16 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

You can't just say all right, all right, all right. I thought it was Bill Clinton, and then you threw that in.

01:39:21 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 3:

You don't think. Am I Bill Clinton? No. Hey, Hillary wants you to go to Naughty Moms Night Out. Here, I got one.

01:39:29 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 4:

01:41:05 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever try, like, if you're ever in the mood And you really want to get them to bed, you know, because you're in the mood Do you bribe them at all, or what do you do?

01:41:14 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 1:

Bribery does not work for them, sadly So we just kind of struggle and make it happen

01:41:19 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man Well, guess what? This is going to be great because is a dad that will be watching the kids on Naughty Moms Night Out Night? Good.

01:41:28 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 1:

Yes, he will be fathering that night.

01:41:30 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 2:

He will, yeah. When people say, I'm babysitting this weekend. I'm like, wait a second, you're a dad. You're not babysitting. Actually, Chelsea told me that years ago when I actually made that comment. My wife said to me, she goes, you're not babysitting. These are your kids. You don't babysit your own kids. Congratulations to you. It is the Friday before Mother's Day. It's May the 12th, the Daxton Hotel in beautiful downtown Birmingham. The Daxton is a gorgeous hotel. That thing is five-star or maybe six-star after we're part of it. And if you want to get a room there, you're now qualified to win a room, or you can just purchase one now that you've just won. And you can go to daxtonhotel.com so that you can spend the night and not have to worry about, you know, driving home or getting an Uber or anything like that. Use the promo code MOJO for a special rate offer, okay?

01:42:24 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Amazing. Thank you so much.

01:42:26 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to you.

01:42:28 - 01:42:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:42:29 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited.

01:42:30 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 2:

Carly's not going to be with the kids, and she's going to be hungover for Mother's Day.

01:42:36 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 1:

More of an excuse to sleep in. That's right.

01:42:39 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations to you, okay?

01:42:41 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:42:41 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 2:

All right, hang on the phone for a second. Mojo in the morning. I'm going to say this and when I say this you guys are going to say I thought you don't like your dogs but I think I'm now starting to love my dogs and you want to know why I'm starting to love them? Why? Because I realized yesterday that my dogs know me more than my family does and what I mean by this is that Henry and Louie my two dogs okay they're two little dogs Henry and Louie have more of a knowing of how I'm feeling or how, you know, what I'm going to do than Chelsea and Luke and Joey and Jacob do when they're around the house.

01:43:24 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 1:

You mean they know your habits, your patterns, your mood?

01:43:27 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Like, for instance, I got something in my throat there. I got to clear it out. They know that when I get up and I go over towards the counter, a certain spot, you know, on my kitchen counter, They know at that moment that the next spot that I'm going to go to is to get my shoes because they know I'm leaving because that's where I keep my keys. Yeah. Like they have an idea. Like they will actually get up and go over towards where my shoes are right after they see me go to that area because they know that I'm going out and they might even think that they're going with me, right? The other thing that they know is Henry knows that when I'm heading towards the bathroom that I'm going to actually go use the bathroom. So there are times where he'll actually go to the toilet paper roll and kind of sit there and try. Like he's trying to like hand me toilet paper, basically. It's unbelievable because Henry's our little dog. The other thing that they know is like yesterday, I was here pretty late till like 3.30 or something in the afternoon with meetings and came home exhausted. And they kind of knew that they needed to be quiet and needed to not like, you know, get too crazy. So they kind of come up on the couch and get really kind of close. And then they know that we're all going to take a nap together, you know? Yeah. And then they know when I'm ready to play. You know, they know that when I'm ready to go. And I was thinking about this yesterday because over the course of the last few days, I've been home with just the dogs. Chelsea's been out running errands. Luke's out doing his thing. He's got school and he's on his golf team and stuff. And I sat there and I thought to myself, I bet you a lot of people can relate to this. And I know you have Charlie.

01:45:00 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes. But do you feel like Charlie knows my routine better than anybody else for sure. Yeah, he knows all the cues. It's so funny every morning. It makes me smile because he if if I'm by myself and Wes is not spending the night with me, he sleeps on the bed with me and he knows that after I'm, you know, up and getting ready for work and stuff and I'm going to get ready to go downstairs and let him out and make a coffee. When I walk over to my shades and roll them up, he stands up on the bed because he knows I'm going to pick him up and put him down and we're going outside. It is go time.

01:45:32 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy. At night when I'm on the couch watching a baseball game or watching whatever is on TV, as soon as I get up, they know the exact time that they're going outside for their last minute poop or pee. And then they go in the bed. They get all excited.

01:45:47 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. He also knows now that if Wes is over, and this kind of makes me sad, he knows he's not sleeping in the bed. So when we all go upstairs to bed, he gets in his little bed on the floor and just stares at me like, F you, lady. I used to be in that bed all the time. And now I'm not anymore. But he truly knows the difference. He knows to just go get in his little bed because I'm not going to pick him up and put him in my bed.

01:46:08 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that he also is like sitting there cussing in his head about this guy? Absolutely.

01:46:12 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

01:46:12 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 5:

This guy that's getting a chance to cuddle with you, not him?

01:46:15 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

You know what kills me when I grab my shoes and then she goes and she lays down and she just looks at me like, how dare you leave me? I'm like, I know. I don't even have to put him on. I just have to touch him. And she's like, and you're leaving. See?

01:46:27 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you. And you have to say bye. And if they could talk, if they could talk, they would basically be saying, you bitch, why are you leaving? I know. It's her, woof, woof. Why are you leaving? But the thing that I wanted to bring up with this is that I've realized with animals that Animals have a better sense of us than like our spouse does. And I want you to call up and I want you to tell us why it is that your pet knows you better than your significant other knows you or your kids know you and how they kind of they can kind of sense it right away. Like my like my family doesn't know, you know, sometimes that I'm having like a really bad day, but my dogs do.

01:47:05 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, they say dogs are very intuitive about that, about illnesses.

01:47:09 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 6:

Mike, your cat knows you. No, I was just about to say how jealous I am of you dogs. people because my cat could give a damn if I'm having a bad day.

01:47:17 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, sweetie. Not true. My cat knew that stuff. My cat would crawl up and if I was upset, knew that I needed her to sit with me.

01:47:26 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 5:

Do you think Mike's got just a bad one?

01:47:30 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 4:

I think Mike's cat knows that he doesn't want the cat.

01:47:38 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Rachel? Hi. How you doing? You can relate to this?

01:47:43 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh, yeah. I swear, I work from home, and the second it hits 530, I swear my dog knows because he'll start, like, running in circles because he knows he's about to go for a walk. So I don't know if it's, like, the brightness outside, like, he can see the sun going down or whatever it is, but it's crazy.

01:47:59 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 5:

That's actually kind of wild, too, because our dogs know their feeding time, too. Like, they know at 5 o'clock that they're about to get food, that that's going to be their dinner time.

01:48:07 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 3:

It's nuts.

01:48:08 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 5:

It's incredible. What's going on, Jill? Hi.

01:48:12 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. I have a cat, and she knows I work from home, and she knows when I'm supposed to be clocking in for work because she'll come over and start meowing like, hey, are you going to get up for work?

01:48:22 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you know what? My cat does every morning when I wake up, she does run from under the bed and walk downstairs with me, but I didn't think anything of it. Like, I didn't think she was doing anything.

01:48:30 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I wait until the last minute to wake up and clock in, and she's like, ah, you're going to be late.

01:48:36 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 5:

Does your pet ever screw that up and it ends up making you late?

01:48:42 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because then I snuggle because she's so cute.

01:48:45 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 5:

That's cute. That is cute. That's wild because it's funny. My dogs have a keen sense of me going to work like Mike's in yours because they know at 3.30 that I get up because they can probably hear me getting up. So I can hear them rustle a little bit. So sometimes on the weekends, they'll wake me up.

01:49:04 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Same.

01:49:05 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 5:

At that time, knowing that that's the normal time that I get up during the week.

01:49:09 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 3:

You're going to be late.

01:49:10 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's wild. That's cute. Do you think that Mike's cat hates him?

01:49:15 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Maybe he realizes, but maybe.

01:49:19 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 5:

Mike, I feel really bad. Mike, I don't even know what your cat's name is.

01:49:23 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 6:

It's Sweetie, and it's a sweet cat. It's a genuinely good cat. I just wanted a dog, so I don't necessarily enjoy it. Jill, do you know?

01:49:35 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't a cat person either, and my daughter got two cats, and I'm obsessed now.

01:49:39 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Do you know that his cat's name is not Sweetie? It's Saw-Weedy.

01:49:43 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah.

01:49:44 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 5:

Like the artist.

01:49:44 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Saw-Weedy.

01:49:45 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 5:

Like the artist, yeah. What's up, John? How you doing?

01:49:49 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 6:

Good. How are you guys?

01:49:50 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, John? John, does your dog know you better than your girlfriend?

01:49:56 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 6:

I don't have a girlfriend, thankfully.

01:49:58 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, then I hope that your dog...

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 2:

knows you better than your girlfriend?

01:50:01 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 7:

What did you say, thankfully? Yeah, she knows when it's time to go for a walk. She loves going for car rides. And sometimes I tease her and I not take a car walk, but I take a car walk anyway. Yeah. For her car rides, if I'm stepping at a Starbucks, she knows exactly where we're at because she knows that she's going to get a pop-up.

01:50:24 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yes, yes. By the way, that is pretty crazy that these dogs know where they're going. I can get off the Southfield freeway and my dad lives in Allen Park in the neighborhood that's like right there off the Southfield freeway. I get off the freeway. I don't even have to turn on to my dad's street yet. And Charlie starts going crazy because he knows he's going to my dad's house.

01:50:42 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. My dog loves my dad and knows when we're pulling up to his place and was like, oh, my God. Go go see Grandpa. She freaks out.

01:50:51 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 2:

Is the whipped cream that they give in a pup cup, is it the regular whipped cream? Yeah. Really? Is it bad to ask for it if you don't have a dog in your car just because you want whipped cream?

01:51:00 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 1:

Do you know how many times it kills me when they see my dog and they still don't offer me one? Because my dog gets very upset when she doesn't get one.

01:51:07 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Yeah. By the way, that's discriminatory towards skinny Coraline.

01:51:12 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 1:

She'll literally pout if she doesn't get one. I'm like, I'm sorry. They were busy. I'm not going to ask for one.

01:51:17 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Carol, what's up?

01:51:19 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Well, my dog is very similar to the last collar because if I ask my dog, Teddy, if he wants to make outside, he does the circle run. But if I ask Teddy if he wants to go for a ride in the car, he will jump all over me and kiss me because he knows he's getting a Dairy Queen ice cream cone.

01:51:37 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. God, you treat your dog better than I'm treating. You know?

01:51:44 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 3:

But, yeah, he knows the ride in the car is the Dairy Queen, and everything else is just, you know, irrelevant.

01:51:50 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. What's going on, Derek? How you doing?

01:51:53 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, Mojo. How you doing? Good. Hey, so my dog, Tucker, if he does not get fed at 6 o'clock on the dot, he brings his food dish.

01:52:06 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 6:

Okay, that is impressive.

01:52:07 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 4:

He basically will hold it until I am ready to feed him.

01:52:12 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 2:

That's great. Wow.

01:52:14 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 4:

It's crazy.

01:52:15 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 2:

Can you imagine if you did that? If all of a sudden you're hungry and you bring it over to your girl and just say, hey, I'm ready for some food, you'd be kicked out of the house. But Tucker gets away with it.

01:52:26 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 4:

Basically, my wife will say, yeah, you're going to make something?

01:52:31 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 2:

Mother Tucker. I guess she was on the phone with us right now. I know that was a bad joke. It was so bad. I just wanted to make you feel better. Thank you. It's been a rough day today. Um, guess who's on the phone today that's going to make everything right for us? What? It's going to make me, all the technical problems we've had this morning, all the bad jokes and stuff. Misfit Steve is on the show with us. Hi, Steve.

01:52:59 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, guys? How's it going?

01:53:01 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 2:

It's good, man. So, Misfit Steve, we're talking about how our dogs or our pets know us more than our significant others do. I didn't even know. Misfit Steve, do you have a pet?

01:53:12 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I have two dogs. One is a pug and one is a lab.

01:53:17 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? And what is it that your pug and lab know about you?

01:53:22 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so every night, you know, when I'm about to wind down, my dog will start whining because they know that I'm about to smoke weed outside.

01:53:32 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. That is intuitive. Smoking the reefer. Great. Smoking the reefer, yep. So what do they do? Do they go outside with you and kind of hang out?

01:53:44 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, they hang out. But when I'm getting prepared and, like, putting on my jacket and shoes and everything, they will literally start scratching the door and whining, running in circles. Like, they get more excited for the weed than I do.

01:54:00 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 2:

That's fantastic. So they just kind of love just chilling out with, you know, what do they call you? Do they have a name for you?

01:54:08 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Just wacko Steve.

01:54:11 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 2:

That's it. I love it. Do you think your dogs just wanted to go outside and they just know they're going to go outside? Or do you think that they enjoy the actual smell of the weed?

01:54:23 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 5:

I end up giving them a treat afterwards anyway.

01:54:26 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so they are very conditioned.

01:54:28 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Is it because you're giving yourself a treat?

01:54:32 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 6:

They get a treat. What did you say, Mojo?

01:54:35 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Is it because you're getting a treat too? You get a little munchies, and that's why you've got to give themselves a high.

01:54:41 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. We're all eating.

01:54:43 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:54:44 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 6:

Happy early 420 for tomorrow, by the way.

01:54:46 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 2:

That's right. How are you celebrating 420, Misfits, Steve?

01:54:50 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 5:

Well, I wanted to stop by at Mojo's tournament.

01:54:55 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, will you come out to Topgolf and golf with us?

01:54:58 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm not a golfer.

01:55:00 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 6:

but uh i'll definitely that's okay i'm not either do it seriously i want you there okay and it's 420 and don't worry even though we're raising money for the sheriff's you know program sheriff

01:55:10 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 7:

01:55:16 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 6:

because i know she'll be there oh my god i love you he's bringing you weed i love it i feel like

01:55:22 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 8:

this is going to be the beginning of a very beautiful relationship you too take care we'll

01:55:28 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 6:

See you, Misfits Steve. Hold on a second, Misfits Steve. Listener Megan wants to tell us how her dog knows when she's about ready to go bake cookies.

01:55:38 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 7:

Yes. So every time, my dogs, they always lay in the bed. And whenever we are about to bake cookies, they just know. And they'll both just get up, hop down, and just go lay on the floor. Wow. You're talking about sex.

01:55:53 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 6:

Wait, so they actually know right about the time that you're going to do it? and they just get off the bed and leave you guys alone.

01:55:59 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, not like a scheduled time, but if we're laying in bed, even if we kiss once or twice, they'll just look at us, take the hit, and then they'll just sit down.

01:56:07 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 6:

All right. I'll get out of here. Do you ever look and they've got, like, their paw over their eyes so they're not watching?

01:56:17 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 7:

One of them will go lay under the bed. Oh.

01:56:21 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 6:

Poor dog.

01:56:23 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

Warm weather. Smell that. That's the smell of your dog's poop that's piled up over the winter. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:56:35 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 6:

All right, Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. By the way, tomorrow, War of the Roses Day. Make sure that you're listening tomorrow morning, 7 and 9 o'clock. And by the way, War of the Roses, now Tuesdays and Thursdays on the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:56:49 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday, the Buffalo Bills said DeMar Hamlin, who, remember, nearly lost his life on the field back in January when his heart stopped after he got hit, he has now been medically cleared to play football again.

01:57:01 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 1:

This event was life-changing, but it's not the end of my story. So I'm here to announce that I plan on making a comeback to the NFL. You know, my heart is still in the game. I love the game. It's something I want to prove to myself, not nobody else. I just want to show people that fear is a choice. You know, you can keep going in something without knowing what's at the end of the tunnel. You just keep putting that right foot in front of the left one, and you keep going. I want to stand for that.

01:57:25 - 01:57:28 | Speaker 4:

We also now know the cause of his on-field cardiac arrest.

01:57:28 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 1:

The diagnosis was comodial cortis. It's a direct blow at a specific point in your heartbeat that causes cardiac arrest. And five to seven seconds later, you fall out. And that's pretty much what everyone's seen January 2nd of this year.

01:57:44 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Bean commenting.

01:57:48 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 3:

He is cleared, resumed full activities, just like anyone else who was coming back from an injury or whatever. So he's fully cleared. He's here, and he is of the mindset. He's in a great headspace to come back and make his return.

01:58:04 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 5:

I love the message. Absolutely love the message. I really, really don't think he should play.

01:58:10 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 6:

I know you don't, and I was thinking about this after the 6.30 Dirty, which you should listen to the debate that Mike got into at 6.30 in the Dirty report. But, Mike, I think that he's better to come back and play with a heart issue than Tua Tumalolupa or whatever his name is from Miami who's had like 8,000 concussions and head injuries. I don't think he should come back.

01:58:32 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, I don't think he should come back either.

01:58:34 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 6:

But I think, honestly, I trust the docs as far as the heart's concerned more than I would trust the docs in letting a concussed player come back.

01:58:42 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 4:

Right. Do you think that the other players look at a guy like Tamar Hamlin, And I'm talking other players, meaning, you know, future opponents. And we'll think twice about going for him. Hitting him? I don't know.

01:58:56 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 8:

I wouldn't. Like, I wouldn't look differently. I wouldn't hit him because I don't want to be the guy that murders him.

01:59:03 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 4:

That's what I mean. Like, you don't want to harm him accidentally. Obviously, being, you know, just playing the game. But I would think about that.

01:59:12 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 6:

Well, he's the one that's going to be doing the hitting. And obviously, there's going to be guys doing the blocking on him because he's a defender. But it's going to, I mean, I don't know. It's interesting. Maybe that's why they're bringing him back. They're bringing him back because people might not want to go near him.

01:59:24 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 8:

He got hit at exactly the right point for it to happen the first time.

01:59:28 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

I know. I know. Rachel McAdams, have you seen the new photos of her going around this morning? She's showing off some armpit hair in her latest interview with Bustle Magazine. It dropped yesterday afternoon. She says, this is my body. And I think that is so important to reflect back out to the world. You can see him on the Dirty page, by the way, at MojoInTheMorning.com. Lionel Richie said he's really excited to be a featured performer alongside Katy Perry at King Charles III's upcoming coronation. And, yeah, he knows about all of the official rules for guests.

02:00:00 - 02:00:01 | Speaker 2:

dealing with the monarchy.

02:00:01 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 1:

All I know, we got this wonderful invitation, and so, again, this is not my first time, but now there's always something where I go, oh, I didn't know that. I mean, be prepared. Just be sure to just say, sir and ma'am. Forget everything else. Just remember, sir and ma'am.

02:00:19 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

He said he's performed for Charles before, so he's not really nervous this time around.

02:00:23 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 1:

I've been involved with the Prince's Trust now for about 30 years. For him, King Charles III, I'm very happy for him. You know, he's kind of waited in that second position for a very long time. And I think what we're going to get now is the new version of the royal family. Why do they have to play? I'm looking forward to see what's going on. This terrible music behind it.

02:00:41 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 2:

Horrible music. I want to play this. I know. I'm sorry. I mean, come on. I know you hate that. And you're already in a little bit of a mood.

02:00:48 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 3:

I know. This song makes me feel good today. Such a great song, isn't it?

02:00:56 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 2:

So good. We need a sing-along today, I think. Feel good. For something. A settlement has been reached in Dominion Voting System's $1.6 billion defamation case against Fox News. After an hours-long delay, the judge entered the courtroom yesterday, just about 4 o'clock, dismissed all of the jurors and said the parties have resolved their case. That brings an end to this very contentious case that saw the voting machine company Dominion Voting accused Fox News of giving life to that, quote unquote, in their words, manufactured storyline about voter fraud after the 2020 election. And Alicia Keys fan, she just announced dates for her upcoming Keys to the Summer Tour across North America. Twenty three dates kicking off at the end of June in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She will be making a stop at Little Caesars Arena on Monday. July 17th, tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public this coming Friday.

02:01:53 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 3:

What song is this? Hold on, I'm trying to play Girl on Fire. Is this a different version of Girl on Fire?

02:02:02 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard this.

02:02:04 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 3:

This is not it.

02:02:05 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, definitely a different version. But it's the song, yeah. Yeah, well, hold on.

02:02:11 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 4:

No, hold on.

02:02:12 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, this is a Nicki Minaj version. I got like 8,000 versions.

02:02:17 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

02:02:20 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 3:

They got all these different versions of these songs in here.

02:02:22 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 2:

Is it edited? I'm worried. No, it's in our system.

02:02:26 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 3:

It's got to be. Hold on. Finish off the dirty.

02:02:32 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 2:

For all of today's dirty, check out the dirty page on nojournthemorning.com.

02:02:37 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 3:

That's good. People dancing all in the streets.

02:02:51 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 4:

People dancing all in the streets. See the rhythm all in the streets. Life is good. Wild in the streets. Let the music play on, play on, play on. Feel it in your heart and feel it in your soul. I like when it just kicks in. Take control. We're going to... Ready, guys?

02:03:24 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 3:

All night long.

02:03:26 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 4:

All night. All night. All night long. All night. All night. All night.

02:03:36 - 02:03:40 | Unknown:

All night. All night long. All night.

02:03:43 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. This is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Is it a red flag when somebody starts liking the old pictures? They start spam-liking your pictures. Oh, gosh. So Lydia, who is our phone screener, has now been hit by the same person who has hit every other member of this show, every other female of the show. dj new era from alabama's uh show down in birmingham alabama right yeah dj new era for those that uh have heard before us talking about him on the show and those that haven't um he does mornings in birmingham alabama on a radio show that uh is very popular it's alabama in the morning and he for some reason has a thing for all of the women uh on the mojo in the morning show and what has he been doing for with you oh i gotta put you on this mic okay there you go sorry

02:04:51 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

lately he's been spam liking my pictures on instagram so the other day i woke up to a bunch of notifications and all it was

02:05:00 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 2:

was DJ New Era, DJ New Era, DJ New Era. Liked your photo, liked your photo, liked your photo. But here's the catch. This was not his first time doing it. He's done this before. So he'll just like three of my pictures at a time. And it'll be probably once a month that he does this. And I have no idea why. Well, because he wants attention. But he doesn't follow me. He doesn't message me. Nothing. Wait, he doesn't follow you when he's doing that? Yeah. Yeah. So I'm wondering, do guys do this because they want attention in the terms of wanting me to follow them or do they want me to like photos back like is this a like for like a follow for a follow i don't know

02:05:39 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 3:

that's what does that mean when somebody starts liking all of your photos and yet they still

02:05:44 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 5:

don't follow you yeah well i don't know about the follow part but i've always thought that when someone's doing that like they just want their name to flood your notifications feed you know they want you to notice to notice them um oh really yeah i always thought that they they liked

02:06:00 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 3:

you and they're just liking the photos and they're trying to flirt a little bit but that's what i

02:06:04 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 5:

mean they want you to notice that they're doing that oh okay i thought you meant that they're just wanting you to follow them or or no like they want it to be very apparent that that's what they're doing yeah it always creeps me out if somebody likes something from a couple of years

02:06:16 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 2:

ago because you know they're doing a deep dive i know right yeah i was like oh maybe he's looking back at photos from when i was like i was just gonna say please call him what's worse so embarrassing

02:06:26 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 3:

i still have them up what's worse the spam where you like a bunch and try to get the attention or you go back and go back is it i think so yeah i think like you took that time i think if you if you like a bunch like a bunch like if you go with a ton of them then he's just going back and he's just spending a lot of time deep diving but if he just specifically chooses a couple like of your sexier photos then he's just you know he's looking out for something oh my god maybe you know what i don't think that alabama knows it's here i'll dial on my my cell phone the only problem is mike and uh megan won't be able to talk because of it's on the cell phone uh or maybe you guys can you guys can hear right yeah mike and megan okay no they might be yeah he's probably on my instagram right now liking pictures you think

02:07:19 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 2:

I love DJ New Era.

02:07:26 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 5:

He's just, he's special. Just start liking his photos, then it'll get his attention.

02:07:32 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, no, because the problem is that that's like feeding a dog. They'll never stop. That's like you give him one little taste of that, then he all of a sudden says, Ara, we're on the radio right now on the Mojo in the Morning Show. How you doing?

02:07:51 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 4:

I'm eating an apple. I'm doing great.

02:07:53 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Are you in the middle of a break or something? Are you guys on the air right now?

02:07:57 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

No, we just took a minute to go step out.

02:07:59 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay, real quick. Hey, have you ever met Lydia from our show?

02:08:07 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 4:

No, I haven't.

02:08:08 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Ara.

02:08:09 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 3:

This is Lydia.

02:08:10 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 5:

But you know who she is, right?

02:08:13 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm kind of clueless right now, Lydia.

02:08:15 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're clueless. Well, your thumb wasn't when it was all in my pictures, buddy.

02:08:21 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 4:

What's going on right now, Mojo?

02:08:24 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 3:

So Lydia says that recently she's been – are you on speaker so that Alabama can hear this too? Oh, God.

02:08:31 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 5:

What happened? Hi, Alabama.

02:08:33 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 3:

So Lydia from our show, she's the newest member of the show. She said that recently she's been getting a lot of spam likes from you on some of her more interesting photos.

02:08:45 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Did you come down and like all of her photos? Did I? Yeah, you did. Let me look at this Mojo. When he's lying, he always says to me. I love that he pretends. What are you talking about?

02:08:55 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 4:

Let me go look. Lydia, hold on.

02:08:58 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Do I have to provide screenshots? I don't want to have to do this to you. Oh, my God.

02:09:02 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow.

02:09:04 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, you did.

02:09:05 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm not even following her. Oh, my God. What is going on, Mojo?

02:09:10 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Lydia says that you've been spam-liking her. is it is it because cupcake shannon is getting married i mean i i don't know i mean i don't know

02:09:23 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 1:

how to answer i sent dj nuera literally a video of shannon last night telling the story about the panties on a stick yeah and i was like look how good shannon tells stories it's so great like trying to you know talk radio stuff he goes i don't even want to watch it anymore because shannon's Oh, my God, are you serious?

02:09:42 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 5:

I love that did, Ara. I'm being petty.

02:09:46 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 4:

It's been a rough morning, Mojo. Please forgive me, Shannon.

02:09:50 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I forgive you. I love you. I like this, by the way. Lydia, I don't know who Lydia is. Let me take a look at Lydia. I'm going to look at Lydia.

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 4:

She is beautiful

02:10:02 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 3:

Let me click on random pictures and see if he liked it

02:10:05 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah How many, by the way, Lydia, how many has he liked?

02:10:09 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Within the past probably two months I've collected a total of six likes From you

02:10:13 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 4:

Six months, one Oh, yep, he liked that That's one Yeah, he's counting You have to see if he can get a follower

02:10:23 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Do you notice a pattern Alabama You notice a pattern of the ones he likes?

02:10:30 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 3:

It's all the ones where there's no pattern, Mojo. Her cleavage is showing in the pictures.

02:10:37 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 2:

It's not, by the way, Alabama, it's not the pictures of Lydia at Bible study. It's the pictures of Lydia out at the club.

02:10:45 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so great. Or at least she got pretty feet. Oh, goodness. All right. You guys go. I knew he'd like that one. I knew he'd like the one on the four-wheeler.

02:10:56 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 2:

You go back to your show. I'll talk to you guys later.

02:10:58 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo.

02:10:59 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 2:

I love you guys. He's moved on to another one here. What's going on, Ashley?

02:11:06 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was just letting you guys know he wasn't answering the phone because he was probably sleeping for being up all night, like in the pictures. Yeah, right?

02:11:15 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 2:

That's true. I know. I'm trying to get him to answer his phone. It takes him like three rings on the whole deal. It's because he's on Instagram at that time using a commercial break.

02:11:25 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he sounded guilty.

02:11:27 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something, Ashley, with radio? I'm going to give you a little clue on this because these guys do morning radio like we do. I can't believe how many of our people that are, you know, fellow radio people that during a song or a break will or even while in a conversation are on their Instagram or tick tock or whatever commenting and do like you're doing a radio show trying to talk to your listeners and all in all. And you're not even talking to the listeners. You're just hitting up, like in Era's case, Lydia, another beautiful radio person.

02:12:01 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It's the technology. The phone's always in their hand.

02:12:07 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 2:

It's the technology or, as Alabama said, is it the cleavage pictures?

02:12:13 - 02:12:14 | Unknown:

Probably both.

02:12:15 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 1:

DJ Era reminds me of this guy I used to DJ with who would literally shoot his shot with every girl that walked up to the DJ. both, and I said, what are you doing, man? You're going to do that at the club with all these different women in the same area? He goes, it works one time out of a thousand, and that's all I need it to work.

02:12:30 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, it hasn't worked yet for Arrow with anybody. We'll see. Mojo in the Morning. Find us on Instagram. It's Mojo in the

02:12:38 - 02:12:38 | Unknown:

Morning.

02:12:39 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Megan is getting ready for tomorrow for our big charity golf tournament that we're doing at Topgolf. Some people have charity golf tournaments and they do it at like fine country clubs and stuff like that and they're like 8,000 hours long they start at 11 o'clock in the morning or 10 o'clock in the morning and then the people that go to these things golf for like five and a half hours it's the slowest golf ever and then they have to sit through dinner and awards and all the rest of that at the end and you don't get home till eight o'clock and you're like hell I would have paid more money to give to the charity just to not have to go you know so we decided uh with sheriff pal and sheriff mike bouchard that we were going to do one and they were like hey will you do a mojo in the morning one because you know i think paul w smith had one before you know it's big legendary radio guy in town and they they said would you do one i'm like i cannot do it i refuse to do golf tournaments that are long and arduous and so i said top golf is where we're going to do it Because I wanted it to be not golfers that are coming. I wanted to be drinkers, partiers, and people with money that want to donate to Sheriff Pal to help out these kids from Pontiac to do all kinds of great stuff. Well, Megan, I just found out just a second ago, has been fretting over what to wear to the point, and women have to tell me if this is common. How many outfits did you buy just for tomorrow night's event that we're doing?

02:14:14 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what it is about me, but I'm so stressed because I feel like, especially when we do events as a morning show, I'm always the one that's not dressed properly. No. No, yes. And it drives me actually insane. And I feel like I'm not going to be dressed properly specifically for this Topgolf event. So I ordered six tennis skirts that I'm hoping is going to be okay to wear because if it's not, I don't know what I'm going to do at this point. And I'm just so mad.

02:14:56 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 2:

Wait, is this common? Because Chelsea does the same thing too. Like if we're... going to like we have a our niece's wedding coming up here she must have 8 000 dresses that she's got on amazon and bought on on websites that are sitting at home and i'm like how many dresses are you and she has still not picked out one dress right and i think people comment on my

02:15:18 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 3:

appearance so much that i just want to feel like as comfortable as i can be so i try not to not fit in at all and I feel like the easiest way for me to stand out is to not dress properly so it's probably my biggest stressor whenever we do anything and the worst part is I never buy quality clothes I always because I buy six things I can't afford to buy six expensive things so it's always super cheap and then I just think if I would just buy one quality item I wouldn't have to throw away things all the time but I can't seem to do it because I have to buy in bulk all

02:15:53 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 2:

All right, okay, this is craziness.

02:15:55 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Are you returning the other ones that you don't? Here's the thing. I'm always wanting to return them. Just never get around there.

02:16:04 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 2:

You either have to be like literally credit card poor right now or the richest person in the world that you order all this stuff and just have it sitting around.

02:16:13 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 3:

You say that like I didn't order $10 skirts and not like $70 skirts.

02:16:17 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 2:

All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Tell us what the event was that you were going to and how many outfits you ordered for the event before you found one outfit that you could wear. Because this is not a guy thing. Guys just go, they grab something. Oh, I disagree with you. Really?

02:16:36 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 4:

I disagree with you. I think guys do it too.

02:16:38 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 2:

Is your fiancee Wes all worried about what he wears?

02:16:41 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 4:

He is famous for going somewhere and having two entire backup outfits, shoes included, hanging in the back of his car.

02:16:50 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. Wow. Well, that's smart though, just in case you spill on yourself. I should have been doing that all along. Hold on a second. On the phone with us is the man, the reason why I'm doing this, and hosting this event tomorrow at Topgolf, which, by the way, if you want to get in, go to sheriffpal.com. There's last-minute opportunities, and then in just a little bit, I'll tell you how you can actually bid on some of the auction items. Sheriff Mike Bouchard from the Oakland County Sheriff's Department, how many outfits have you had to go purchase to come to Topgolf?

02:17:22 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 1:

You know, I wanted to get out ahead of it. You know, I think since it's a golfing event and Megan's getting tennis outfits, I was thinking of getting beach attire.

02:17:33 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 2:

No, no, they're cute. They're cute ball skirts.

02:17:35 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 4:

It's like athleisure. Yes.

02:17:39 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

Sheriff Bouchard. Listen, Sheriff Bouchard wears the brown sheriff uniform all the time, right?

02:17:46 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, actually, we are in the process of changing our fashion. Are you? Really? Really. Black uniforms.

02:17:53 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 2:

Really? The sheriff's department's going from brown to black, huh?

02:17:57 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yes. Men in black.

02:17:59 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's going to be interesting.

02:18:00 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 1:

And women in black and dogs in black and horses in black. Wow. We have everything in black.

02:18:05 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 2:

You got to. That's cool.

02:18:06 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 1:

A little makeover.

02:18:07 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I want to tell you something about Megan. If you give her any kind of more anxiety about tomorrow, you know that it's going to take. So tell her how great she looks as soon as you see her tomorrow. Okay?

02:18:18 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 1:

Megan, you are world-renowned fashionista. That's all I can say, girl.

02:18:24 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate the lies.

02:18:26 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

It is everywhere. That's all I hear is, Echo Megan, Megan.

02:18:33 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 2:

Sheriff Bouchard, this is going to be fun tomorrow. And if you go to sheriffpal.com, you can find out more about it. We've got some good auction items, too. I know that we've got some concert tickets, trips that we're going to be auctioning off. All kinds of stuff.

02:18:44 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's some new stuff, too, up at Boyne Mountain that has beds to sleep, I think, like 10 people.

02:18:52 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like vacations.

02:18:53 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 1:

You have to use gift certificates for spa, holiday vacation club. If somebody wants to get in on the action, all I've got to do is send an email to Mandy, who's really doing a ton of work on this and is amazing. Her email is aford at sheriffpal.com. And if they send their name and cell number, then they can get on the kind of bidding donor thing so that they can be informed. So even if you can't be there. Start to bid and see it and all that kind of stuff. That's awesome.

02:19:26 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 2:

They do an app that's really cool for all the Sheriff Powell events where it's, you can pretty much, you can bid on it. You can buy it right there if you want to. You can do a buy now if you want.

02:19:35 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, or somebody, if they want to add items to the auction, they can do that. Like, you know, maybe the last six events that the clothes that didn't make the Megan cut list will be on there.

02:19:44 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey, there you go.

02:19:45 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

That's actually great. How about this? Why don't we, Megan, can we auction this off? shopping with Megan like I'll I'll get like one of the malls in town or one of the big stores in town to donate like a gift card and

02:20:00 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 4:

With the gift card comes Megan, go shopping with you. You guys will never leave the store because you'll have like 8,000 things going with you.

02:20:08 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm down. Yeah, that sounds like fun. That could be a Hallmark movie.

02:20:11 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 4:

That could be. Exactly.

02:20:13 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 3:

And then she runs into an old boyfriend that lives in the country.

02:20:18 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 4:

And then they run away together.

02:20:20 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 7:

One of the families has to have a Christmas business.

02:20:23 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. They sell Christmas trees. Exactly. And has them to have horses in the backyard.

02:20:27 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 4:

Sheriff Bouchard, you need to do this for us, okay? Number one, make people feel comfortable that it's 420 tomorrow and that they're coming and that you're not going to bust them for having an edible or something in their pocket.

02:20:41 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 3:

Dude, totally. I'm bringing the Doritos.

02:20:47 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 4:

All right. We'll see you tomorrow, okay?

02:20:49 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 3:

My pleasure. I appreciate all you guys are doing, and it's so much important for the kids that are supported by Sheriff Powell. You guys are amazing. Thanks so much. Thanks, buddy. We look forward to seeing you.

02:21:01 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 4:

We love those kids. All right, we'll talk to you later. We'll see you tomorrow at Sheriff Powell. You know, the whole night, just so you know, the guy plays pranks all the time. The whole night, all he's going to be doing is having people walk up to Megan to tell her how great her selection was of what she wore.

02:21:14 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 6:

Now the pressure's really on, Megan. I know.

02:21:19 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 4:

Maddie? Hello. How you doing? Great. How are you? Good. Megan, I need a musical accompaniment for this thing. What RuPaul song should I play for this topic of how many outfits that you bought?

02:21:33 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 7:

I don't think there's a single bad RuPaul song, so. Really? I'm worried that you're going to be playing it off of a place where it's not edited.

02:21:41 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, are they all dirty? So I would be careful. Call Me Mother has got an expletive in that.

02:21:46 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 7:

Call me, mother.

02:21:49 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 4:

Call me, mother. Okay, Mary, what was the event, and how many outfits did you buy for the event?

02:21:56 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 9:

So I have a wedding coming up here in Mexico in May, and I am three months postpartum. So my second bathroom counter is filled. I think I have six dresses, four outfits, and then shoes, of course, to go with it. So it's a little bit ridiculous, but I play the same game that Megan does, well, that she should, and I try to return everything that I don't end up wearing. Oh, yeah.

02:22:18 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. See that? So this is common. This is not Megan just, you know, being out of her mind going out and doing this stuff. This is stuff that every woman does.

02:22:28 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 9:

Definitely for me.

02:22:29 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 5:

It is bad. You know you're a chronic returner when you know the name of the guy at the UPS store.

02:22:35 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 6:

Shout out to Joe from the UPS store right here by the radio station in Farmington Hills.

02:22:42 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 4:

Angelica.

02:22:44 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:22:45 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 4:

What's the event and how many Outfits do you have planned

02:22:49 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 8:

Okay so not necessarily me Because I went with the first one that I Thought of but Swifties will Buy like multiple I'm talking At least five outfits For the tour coming up And they try to sell them on Facebook groups after Oh really? Yeah it's like all that I see on my feed is these Like Taylor Swift groups but In particular I'm dropping like over 100 because I am bejeweling a corset and it's a lot. We all put a lot into these outfits so it's understandable flights. Everyone's so indecisive. Hey, for a

02:23:26 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 7:

jingle ball, I spent over 24 hours bedazzling shoes I didn't even wear. Really?

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Will you wear those

02:23:32 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 7:

tomorrow? Absolutely not. They turned out really bad.

02:23:36 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 4:

Joseph says this is not just a female thing, Joseph, right?

02:23:42 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

02:23:43 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 4:

How many outfits did you buy?

02:23:47 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 1:

I had like 10 outfits I was going to go to a Nickelback concert And I was asking my wife I'm like, hey, which one looks better?

02:23:53 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 4:

Come on, as Shannon just said, come on I don't believe you Was it come on because he was going to Nickelback Or come on because he was having to worry about five outfits

02:24:01 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, just Outfit changes for a Nickelback show

02:24:05 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, I wanted to look good You know, we weren't married You know, you never know

02:24:10 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay, alright

02:24:11 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

I had like five pair of boots and everything And I just thought it was stupid When I got done with it

02:24:17 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 4:

I thought for some reason that you just go to Nickelback And you just end up Wearing one of those affliction shirts The pair of jeans with the bedazzles On the pocket

02:24:27 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 6:

You don't even go with it on I even wear some ripped jeans that I bought for $110

02:24:32 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 4:

Wow, fancy Alright I have one thing to say

02:24:37 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Sashay, Shantae Shantae, Shantae

02:24:41 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Amanda?

02:24:44 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Jo, I'm trying Just to tell Megan to shut her beautiful Face off because she always looks beautiful And she's gorgeous Yes

02:24:53 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 4:

Megan, you hear that? Thank you

02:24:57 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 7:

It's still stressful

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, but she always looks good So before I discuss that one about it

02:25:05 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so shut your face Basically, right, Amanda?

02:25:08 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 3:

Beautiful face

02:25:09 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 5:

Shut your beautiful face

02:25:11 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 4:

Megan, she's the best And don't you forget it This is Mojo in the Morning Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

02:25:21 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 5:

Alright, listener Amanda Who's making seats for which Chevy Vehicle? Seven years old. Okay. Seven years old. All right, so she's on with us right now, and she's going to be on with Shannon doing the dirty and give commentary with the rest of us, okay?

02:25:36 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, are you a Love is Blind fan, Amanda? A who? Love is Blind.

02:25:43 - 02:25:43 | Unknown:

No.

02:25:43 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, big story this morning. Fans are petitioning for the host of that show, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, to be replaced, like ASAP. And the criticism here, during the reunion special, Nick and Vanessa fans say were awkward, they were biased towards certain contestants, they were useless, and overall, just cringey. And a lot of fans in particular took issue with the fact that Vanessa kept badgering contestants about when they planned to start having kids. And people are saying, you just, you don't do that. Some women don't want children. Some women can't have children. Please stop interrogating the couples about having babies. They said it was just really, really weird. One person actually tweeted Vanessa Lachey's line of baby questioning was was similar to the amount of time that my auntie asks me if I had gotten my period yet during Thanksgiving dinner. It's just the question that nobody wants. Some Twitter users were suggesting that Lauren and Cameron, who found love on season one of Love is Blind, should return to host the show. Do you think she was drunk? I saw that on there, too. I don't know. It was really weird, this baby obsession that she had the entire time.

02:27:02 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just thought more of her eyes were bloodshot like a drunk person's.

02:27:05 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. The NBA suspended Golden State's Dream on Green one game without pay for stomping on the chest of Sacramento Kings center DeMontis Sabonis.

02:27:17 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 4:

Green gets tied up. And a technical has been assessed.

02:27:21 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 5:

Sabonis is down Let me say this Draymond stepped on him But Sabonis grabbed his leg first He's trapped him Damanis Sabonis That was the night before last This was Monday night's game

02:27:38 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 2:

And the suspension was based in part On Draymond Green's history of Unsportsmanlike acts He's going to miss game 3 against Sacramento Tomorrow night Shaquille O'Neal commenting on this yesterday

02:27:49 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 1:

I'll do the same thing I really would. Don't be grabbing me because what am I going to do? Like, if I stay there and just try to run forward, I'll fall. You got to get him up off you. And if you're up off you and you're in the way, you might get stumped, though.

02:28:03 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 5:

I feel like the NBA got soft.

02:28:06 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I agree. I agree. And I think he was attacking. I forget the guy's name, but that was attacking. It's a bonus. Yeah. Draymond Green, because he knows that he's got those unsportsmanlike acts and it would trigger him and then he would get him out of the game.

02:28:18 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and a little antagonistic. How are you doing there, Amanda? We're over here building seats. She's building seats. All right. She's building seats while she's doing it. This is wild because I always wanted her to know, like, did the seats already come in, you know, the look that way? You have to actually put the cushion to the seat and do all the rest of that stuff?

02:28:37 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we put the cushion on the frame and we put the material on the cushion. We all bring the material to the frame and ship it over to the Orion assembly plant.

02:28:47 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing. That is wild.

02:28:49 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 2:

The wife of Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds has officially filed for divorce after they announced their separation last year. I know he's been out and about with Minka Kelly as of late. I don't know if they're still together.

02:29:02 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 5:

She always seems like she's dating somebody, right?

02:29:05 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 2:

I mean, she's just been in the news a lot lately. But yeah, she's beautiful. But Asia Volkman filed yesterday in L.A. ending a marriage that lasted over a decade. They do have four kids together. And Tom Sandoval says he's really happy that his ex-girlfriend, Arianna Maddox, has a new man in her life and hopes that this helps put the Scandoval to rest already. If you missed the news, Arianna has moved on. There were some photos of her smooching her new man. He's a personal trainer named Daniel Y. at Coachella over the weekend. Tom's saying he has pretty much cut off nearly all communication with Arianna amid the scandal, Which he says was blown way out of proportion By the ladies of Vanderpump Rules Lala, Sheena, Kristen, and Katie He said he has just over People perpetuating The drama

02:29:53 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

Amanda, do you watch Vanderpump Rules? I don't Now what do you watch? I always want to know

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 2:

know what people watch. Sometimes we talk about shows and I always feel like we're... American Idol, your favorite mask singer. Oh, God. My reality TV.

02:30:12 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 1:

Usually my husband has a remote, so whatever he watches, too.

02:30:15 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 2:

So you like when Shannon does the mask singer reveals the day after, huh?

02:30:20 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I already know. Yeah, yeah. I just do it to bug him. That's really the only reason I do it.

02:30:28 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 2:

Amanda, thank you for building those beautiful cars and making our seats comfortable, okay? Oh, no problem. Have a great day. Tell everybody at the plant that we say hello. I will do. Megan, don't stress out about your outfit. You hear it, Megan? I did not. I don't know what to say. Did you say shout out to your fiance? What's that? Do not stress out about your outfit. Don't stress out about your outfit. Don't stress out of your outfit. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I thought it was our equipment. I didn't realize it was because she's in the factory right now. All right.

She had been cleaning earlier in the day and stuck a Clorox cling to the side of the toilet that afternoon and it made the water blue and my dad. And he wasn't kidding. He was that drunk? That he was peeing blue. Yes. Yes. That one's going out in history. That's a good one. Wanted her to take him to the hospital.

02:34:12 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 2:

By the way.

02:34:13 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 3:

02:34:55 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Because remember how you had to scroll through numbers Can you imagine doing that drunk

02:35:00 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 4:

Trying to figure that out. That's funny. Oh, my God. Jenny wants to be voice disguised. Jenny, I was once so drunk, I...

02:35:10 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 1:

I slept with my co-worker's brother, and I was 39. He was 23. Get it.

02:35:18 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, give it up.

02:35:20 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 1:

I love everybody's very different reaction to that.

02:35:23 - 02:35:24 | Speaker 4:

We're proud of you for that one.

02:35:25 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was definitely something different. And the only bad part is he tried to get me to call him daddy.

02:35:31 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gee. Shouldn't he, wait, shouldn't he have you, like, since you were the, weren't you the older woman in that one, you should have been mommy.

02:35:40 - 02:35:41 | Unknown:

Right.

02:35:41 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 4:

So this is wild. Would you have slept with him if you weren't drunk? I mean, is he a good-looking guy?

02:35:48 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, no. I mean, he's not bad-looking, but I have a 20-year-old daughter, so it made it very awkward after the fact that I realized what I did.

02:35:55 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. This is unbelievable.

02:35:56 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 1:

Closer to her age. Yeah. Wow. Get it, girl.

02:35:59 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 4:

So did your coworker ever find out that you slept with her much younger brother?

02:36:04 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 1:

God, no.

02:36:05 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 4:

That's why your voice is guys, right?

02:36:08 - 02:36:08 | Unknown:

Exactly.

02:36:09 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

Brian, I was once so drunk, I...

02:36:13 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

I was on vacation and walked into the wrong Airbnb house.

02:36:20 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. You got to be careful nowadays.

02:36:22 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 3:

People are getting shot for doing something like that. They were all like cookie cutter, like condo things, and they all looked the same. And I left like a group party and stumbled back to my house and flipped on the lights, and the interior is completely different. And I was like, oops, I'm out. Were people in there? No, they were probably sleeping, but they left the door unlocked.

02:36:44 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. Well, did you lock it? Well, I went to the next call. Chad? Yeah. Drunk Chad is on with us right now, guys.

02:36:53 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Chad.

02:36:54 - 02:36:54 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

02:36:54 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi. How's it going?

02:36:56 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 4:

Good, Chad. You were once so drunk, what did you do?

02:37:02 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 5:

We went to Put-in-Bay. We just lived like an hour from Sandusky. And we went to Put-in-Bay for a bachelor party. And on the way back, there was a bunch of us that while we were waiting on our driver to come pick us up, we all fell asleep on the sidewalk in front of the Jet Express.

02:37:18 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

02:37:19 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 2:

I feel like every good story starts with, we were at Put-in-Bay. Yeah.

02:37:23 - 02:37:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. We go probably three or four times a year, but that was probably the worst and best trip that I've ever had there.

02:37:31 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 2:

Dang, are you rich?

02:37:33 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 5:

No, no.

02:37:34 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 4:

No, he just lives in Sandusky. Yeah. That's, by the way, that's awesome. And I don't think there's anybody sober at Put-In-Bay, are there?

02:37:42 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't think my liver can afford Put-In-Bay.

02:37:45 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 4:

Look at this texture.

02:37:46 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 5:

You've got to appreciate the barbecue chicken and then the pizza afterwards.

02:37:50 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 2:

No, lobster bisque. You have to go up to the pier and get the lobster bisque.

02:37:54 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 5:

It's okay. It's just all right. It's nothing compared to the pizza.

02:37:56 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 4:

You've got to be drunk enough to have the lobster bisque. 313 says, I was once so drunk, I jumped out of a car while it was moving. Oh, my goodness. Chuck?

02:38:08 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

02:38:09 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

02:38:09 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 6:

I live on Orchard Lake Road, and my buddy dumped me out of his car onto my front lawn, and my daughter came out and brought me coffee on my front lawn five hours later. That sounds great. Now, Orchard Lake Road, for those who don't live in the Detroit area, I mean, it's a busy road. We sit back a bit, but still, I was on the lawn by the front door. Oh, I'm proud of you.

02:38:34 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 4:

Were you like the texter that the car was still moving at the time that he dumped you out, or did he properly stop the car? He parked and dropped me off. Oh, that's nice. That was kind of him. And thank God that your daughter actually knows how to make a good coffee. Was it a Keurig? She does.

02:38:50 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 6:

I don't know.

02:38:51 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but he's good now. It's good when your kids are the ones that are nursing you back. Sylvia was the texter. Sylvia, we got you on the phone. You jumped out of a moving car. How fast were you guys going?

02:39:03 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 2:

Probably 10 miles. I mean, we were taking a turn on a side street. Yeah, so I tried to get out. I was arguing with somebody. I tried to get out at the stop sign. The door was shut. I was like, no, you're not getting out, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, okay. As soon as we hit that turn I swung that door open I was like, I'm getting out of this part Oh my gosh Yeah, I was in the hospital It was so horrible But lesson learned I don't drink liquor anymore

02:39:31 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 4:

What was the liquor? What kind of liquor was it?

02:39:34 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 2:

We were just having green tea shots But I drink beer too So I think it was the mix But I love you guys so much

02:39:41 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 4:

What did they say? Liquor before What is it? Liquor before Something is

02:39:46 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 2:

Beer before liquor I've never been sicker Liquor before beer You're in the clear Yeah I wasn't in the clear

02:39:51 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 4:

We love you too Sylvia

02:39:53 - 02:39:56 | Speaker 2:

Thanks have a good day Bye

02:40:00 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Need your bills paid? We'll give you a shot at $1,000 in just a few minutes. On Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:40:15 - 02:40:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:40:17 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 1:

Live.

02:40:30 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning. So, I want to run this by you guys, but I know, Mike, you're the only guy that can tell me if this is just a guy thing or a girl thing or not. So I was talking with some friends, and we were going and having a discussion about secret bank accounts. There was a story that I think I saw in our prep that day. We get this prep page that's sent to us by some service. I don't even know who it is, and I don't even know if we pay for the thing. And the thing said, it talked about how many people have secret bank accounts, so people that actually will hide from their spouse, their husband or their wife, a secret bank account. And so we got into this discussion talking about what would you do if you found out that your wife or in a couple of guys' cases, the girlfriend, had a secret bank account. And the conversation was, you know, oh, well, I'd be kind of pissed. I'd wonder what she was doing. Like, everybody was doing this. And then I said, well, what would you do if you found out that your wife or girlfriend had a secret sex toy? Completely on the opposite end.

02:42:27 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 4:

Whoa, sorry. Okay? I wasn't anticipating this being the turn we took, but here we are.

02:42:33 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 2:

I'm the best at coming up with surveys, by the way. This is a good survey. and every one of these guys went from the whole secret bank account thing oh I'd be a little concerned hey it was a secret sex toy oh what is she why did she keep that from me everybody was kind of like the guys were like I can't believe she why would she not tell me that she's got a sex toy like we could use it you know all this stuff like everybody kept all these guys kept doing it

02:43:00 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 4:

or is it more like am I not doing a good enough job why does she have that

02:43:03 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 2:

a couple of the guys got into that too

02:43:05 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 4:

It's not getting the job done. But the answer is yes.

02:43:08 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, listen, it's not necessarily KP. Do not say this because Chelsea has a sex toy, but I don't want it to be that she can't get the job done. But you know about it. It's that you deserve to be able to have fun with yourself.

02:43:19 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 3:

We all know that after you do the deed, you go home, you do it yourself. Well, all right. I don't know what I'm talking about here.

02:43:25 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 2:

But what if you're in the home with the person? So here's the thing. I thought that the reactions of these guys was so vastly strange that more guys, more of my guy friends. Now, mind you, there was, I think there were six of us. More of the guys were upset that their girl would have a secret sex toy than have a secret bank account. So I want to kind of just throw this out there. What would you be more upset about? What would you be more upset about? And this could be for women, too. I don't know if guys, do guys really have sex toys? I guess they might have a pocket pee, right? Yeah, there's a couple different things you could have.

02:44:03 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 4:

Also, you use that. You go have you time. I'd like to watch my show. You go have fun.

02:44:09 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 2:

Actually, women are probably happy that you have a sex toy, right?

02:44:14 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 4:

I'm busy. I have a headache. I'm tired. It's been a long day. I've got things to do. You go have fun.

02:44:19 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like take care of yourself and do it yourself. What would you be more upset about that your spouse, Mike, What would you be more sad about that? Allie had a secret bank account or she had a secret sex toy that you didn't know about?

02:44:32 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 5:

That's so tough because what are you doing with the secret? What are your plans with the secret bank account? That's my thing. That initially upsets me. The sex toy, maybe only because I don't feel like we would hide anything like that. So if she is hiding something like that, then there's a bigger issue.

02:44:49 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it depends on what kind of toy it is too because if it's like a pump or something. you're obviously using that on someone that's not your significant other wait well that

02:45:00 - 02:45:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, now, yeah, if the sex toy is a sex toy that you have to use with somebody else, then I'm thinking they're cheating on me. That's a whole different thing.

02:45:08 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 4:

But see, I'm with Mike in that the money thing is actually scary to me because, like, that's so shady. What are you doing with that money? Well, what if it was like a vacation fund?

02:45:19 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 3:

What if it was a boat?

02:45:21 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 4:

Okay, we were thinking way too optimistically for this topic. Yeah.

02:45:24 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, oh, I'm sorry. Me? Get that positive on here.

02:45:28 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 4:

I know, it's actually, I, yeah.

02:45:31 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 3:

Excuse me? I can't believe that. Morgan Dunham, this history bug. Shannon just called me too positive on something.

02:45:39 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. The bank account is, that would worry me more.

02:45:43 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:45:43 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 4:

But again, I'm a girl, and I think that this topic is definitely geared more towards asking the dudes what they would think.

02:45:48 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 2:

It does hurt to pride a little bit with the toy, with the sex toy, a little bit. Uh-huh. Only because, only because she felt like she had to hide it. Not that she's using it. I don't care, because I don't know about that. But if she had to hide it, there's a reason she had to hide it.

02:46:02 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Let me go to the phone lines here. It's the secret of secrets. The sex toy or bank account? Kathy? It's a bank account. Yeah, because you're a woman. And women don't want their finances touched by anybody, do they? Right?

02:46:24 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 4:

Are you speaking from personal experience here? Yeah, it was a personal experience. He had a secret bank account and blindsided me with a divorce. Oh, okay. Oh, boy.

02:46:37 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 1:

So, quick question for you on your secret bank account. How much money did he pull out before you realized what was going on?

02:46:51 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 3:

$3,500.

02:46:53 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Okay, so enough money that it's noticeable.

02:46:57 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Did he use that to go get a lawyer? Is that what he was doing with that money? I believe it was to file. To file, okay.

02:47:04 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so he was using it as a retainer to put down for somebody. And how did you figure it out? Did you just go through bank records, or what did you do?

02:47:17 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

It was kind of complicated.

02:47:20 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 1:

Too complicated or too dirty to talk about?

02:47:23 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 2:

Personal, actually.

02:47:24 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay, I get it. All right. Is there a sex toy that would make you upset, though, if a guy was going to go out and buy the thing? Like, if he bought a doll, like a sex doll.

02:47:34 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so to KP's point, when we were at Lover's Lane that one time giving the listener, what was that for, Valentine's Day, right? And we all, like, helped her on her shopping spree. There's some stuff in there that is, like you said, dolls. There are, remember that big $2,000 unicorn thing? I don't even know what that was. Do you know what I'm talking about? What was it? The horn on the front of it. No. Yeah. And you like sat on it. I remember that.

02:48:00 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 3:

How could you forget that thing? What? Are we allowed to say names? I didn't say a name. Are we allowed to is what I'm saying?

02:48:06 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:48:07 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 1:

I think you can say the names of the things. Yeah. It's a brand.

02:48:10 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 3:

Are you talking about the Sibians?

02:48:11 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Like if you're keeping that a secret and like that, I. No, that's why. If you're keeping it a secret. Why not? Why not just, like, bring it into the relationship then? Well, because it's a solo thing. No, but that means, yeah, I see what you mean.

02:48:31 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but there's no reason to hide it. Like, I don't mind solo stuff, but there's no reason to hide it at all, ever.

02:48:35 - 02:48:41 | Speaker 3:

I think you guys underestimate some guys' reactions to finding your stuff. And, like, some guys hate it.

02:48:41 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 4:

No, trust me, I know that from past relationships. I've been in relationships with guys who were not comfortable with any sort of sex toy being involved in the relationship.

02:48:51 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 3:

I don't think any of my exes have ever seen my collection. I don't think any of them have seen or, yeah, would know what's in it. Do you have one of those unicorn things? They're very expensive.

02:49:08 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what if you got a secret bank account for the unicorn?

02:49:13 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you, research was done, and then I went, in this economy? We'll save up for her.

02:49:20 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's when you know that the economy is bad. When people are like going to the, we went to Lover's Lane and I asked him, I said, has the economy affected you guys? And they said, no, when the economy is bad, more people come out and buy stuff like that because they're more worried about taking care of themselves than they don't want to go on dance.

02:49:39 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I'll get the $100 things, not the $1,400 things. That's what it was. I think it was like $1,800. No, it was $1,800, wasn't it? They're very, very expensive.

02:49:48 - 02:49:48 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:49:48 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 3:

No, she didn't.

02:49:49 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

A couple of textvers here, a couple guys, it looks like 419. I'm a guy. I definitely would wonder why she wouldn't tell me that she had a sex toy. I would be completely fine if she had it.

02:50:00 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 3:

Another one here says the bank account, because if she's taking money out of our account and putting it somewhere else, I'm wondering what she's spending it on. Is she going to leave me? And then all the women who are commenting are all saying that the secret bank account is by far the more scandalous thing. Because I think that the thing is, I don't think guys have sex toys. Like, I don't think that's a, I don't really don't know a lot of. Yes, I do. I do. You do?

02:50:29 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:50:30 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 3:

What do you have? You've never shared with us about this.

02:50:32 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 2:

I got a ring, like a little, I can't say it, but you know what that is. Yeah. I've had before one of those fleshlights, which is the pocket, basically, but I've had one of those. That was pre-Ally. And then like lotions and stuff. Okay.

02:50:48 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we need to take this to the podcast tomorrow.

02:50:50 - 02:50:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right. Let's do it. Let's talk about that. That's a good topic for everybody. That's a good topic. And the bed straps. Can't forget those. And the mattress. Oh, yeah, yeah. We got the handcuffs and all kinds of stuff.

02:50:58 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 3:

Wait, do you keep those things connected all the time to the bed, or do you guys have to take those off?

02:51:05 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 2:

So they used to be, and then the cat started playing with it, and then the kids saw the straps things. And so Cecily was like, oh, what's this? She thought it was like a strap to the bed or whatever. And I'm like, ah, nothing, nothing. So we've had to get rid of that. Mojo in the Morning has a shot for you to win $1,000 now. Pay Your Bills is on.

02:53:11 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 2:

This is Heather. She was on gym.

02:53:16 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 1:

As the Woodlands Elite Cheer Company prayed for four of their cheerleaders, shot at just after midnight. Nobody deserves anything like this. The elite athletes were going the distance for their sport. Traveling more than 320 miles round trip to and from the Austin area for cheer practice three days a week. using this Elgin H-E-B as a carpool lot. As Heather Roth was dropped off here Tuesday, she opened the door to what she thought was her car. It wasn't, so she hopped back in her friend's vehicle. As we're backing up, I see the guy get out of the passenger door, and I roll my window down, and I was trying to apologize to him. And then he, I just, halfway, my window was down, he just threw his hands up, and then he pulled out a gun. And then he just started chewing on all of us. ABC 13 verified the story with Bastrop County sources. Roth was grazed by a bullet. Her teammate, Peyton Washington, was shot in the leg and back. Peyton opens the door and starts throwing up blood. The Round Rock ISD senior, who was already competing with one lung, committed to Baylor University's acro and tumbling team. That coach visited her in the hospital Tuesday. She's a fighter. 02:54:59 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 3:

wow

02:55:00 - 02:55:08 | Speaker 4:

Now, 25-year-old Pedro Rodriguez Jr. is charged with deadly conduct, but we're told additional charges are likely. Live in Oak Ridge, Shannon Ryan.

02:55:08 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? Yeah. I mean, listen, people just got to, like, seriously chill out a little bit. I mean, geez, what they're doing. And it's nuts to know that there's so many.

02:55:23 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 4:

That's your first reaction.

02:55:24 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 2:

And it's wild because I'm starting, like, I look at this with the news. There's been so many of these stories that have been coming out over the last week. And then sometimes I sit there and I wonder, is it just because there's so many stories and now maybe we didn't hear about these stories before? And now the news is covering some of these stories and they've just been happening for such a long time? Or what the reasoning is of why there's been so many over the course of the last week or so or last five days? All right. Let me move on to this next story here. Pot or a sugar high? Americans are now spending more on legal weed than chocolate. Ready for this? The weed business, legal weed business, has made $30 billion last year. The chocolate and craft beer business doesn't even combine for that much money. Is that amazing to know that? That the weed business is so much bigger than people turning towards chocolate and beer to be able to drink. Another thing is teens are abusing Adderall by buying it online.

02:56:32 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 3:

Isn't there an Adderall shortage? There is. And I cannot fill my prescription, and it's killing me.

02:56:37 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 2:

So your doctor prescribes you Adderall, and you cannot find it anywhere.

02:56:41 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 3:

I have diagnosed mild to severe ADHD, and it's been months, and I cannot get my prescription filled.

02:56:45 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 2:

They say that when COVID started, it became such a big deal now that everybody was trying to take Adderall. Up to 25% of middle and high school students are abusing the prescription stimulants, such as Adderall. Researchers have been analyzing this and finding out that one in four students were abusing the medication that typically is prescribed for what you're going through with ADHD. But they're going online and buying it in other places, which is causing for people to not be able to get their prescriptions filled.

02:57:20 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 1:

That's the reason I stopped taking it because I would take it and then it would get, it would be, there would be a shortage or whatever. And then they would try to prescribe me like Ritalin or something different. And then I would take the Ritalin and be a zombie. And then I'd try to go back to Adderall. And then I stopped and went in those breaks of stopping. You, it like throws your whole balance of everything off and you just feel like a absolute crazy person. So I just quit taking it all together.

02:57:43 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Mike, I feel you. It took me months to adjust to my medication and find the right one. And it sucks. Like, you can't just go and switch around different medications, you know, per person, depending on what they need.

02:57:54 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 2:

77% of Americans have used unhealthy coping mechanisms to manage their mental health crisis. But when they announce what their unhealthy ones are, I'm like, oh, wait a second. I do all this. This is unhealthy? Ready for this? More than three quarters of Americans knowingly engage in unhealthy coping mechanisms. They say using drugs or unhealthy eating or overeating. Okay, ready? Sleeping too much.

02:58:28 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hey, hey, hey.

02:58:30 - 02:58:34 | Speaker 2:

So sleeping too much is one of the unhealthy mechanisms that people are using.

02:58:35 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:58:36 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 2:

To come. I feel like they're pointing fingers at us or something. I honestly wish I could sleep a little bit more, But they're saying that that's become a big thing now where people are dealing with so much anxiety and so much pressure that they're just going to bed to try to sleep away their pressure. Well, I mean, there are people who literally don't get out of bed, can't get out of bed.

02:59:00 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm surprised TikTok isn't on that list.

02:59:02 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Or binge watching, too. Netflix is set to launch the paid password sharing that they talked about doing this summer. In June, they're saying that it's going to happen. They're going to start cracking down on you being able to share your password with other family members or friends or coworkers. So June is when it's going to happen. It's going to roll out. And so what exactly is it supposed to do? Like if you are on.

02:59:29 - 02:59:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if it's going to give you a limit for how many devices. And then once you exceed that number of devices, you're paying. Isn't that what it is?

02:59:36 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 2:

Hulu does it and it annoys the crap out of me. Where Hulu does it, like, I have a son in Chicago, a son in Florida, and then I live here in Michigan. So if somebody logs on, like, even if I buy, like, the big account, which I have.

02:59:51 - 02:59:53 | Speaker 4:

Like the family account. The family account.

02:59:53 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

It will say, when I log on to it, you can't log on to it right now because it's logged on.

03:00:00 - 03:00:18 | Speaker 3:

by other two states. Oh, really? Yeah. It drives me crazy. And I'm paying way too much money for it. I'm telling you that. I talked about this yesterday. You can go check out the podcast of this. But the way to save money, go through every one of your subscriptions, just cancel them all at once, and then see which ones you miss the most, and then bring them back one by one.

03:00:18 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I wonder if with Netflix, it's going to be a situation, like if it's not in your actual home.

03:00:23 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 3:

Right?

03:00:23 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 2:

Like you can have multiple TVs in your home, obviously.

03:00:25 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 3:

They figure it out based on, yeah, your IP address.

03:00:29 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:00:29 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 3:

Netflix also plans to end something that I didn't even know that they were still doing, but the DVD by mail service. The final shipment of DVDs will be sent out September the 29th. It says in this story, I heard May, but I didn't even know they were still doing that. Is there anybody that's listening to the show that gets DVDs still sent to their house? You'll have to share with us and tell us what the hell. That's interesting. I mean, I mean, I guess, you know, I still have a home phone number, but it's part of the package that I have with my cable, which everybody still thinks is kind of wild. Oh, what is the other? Oh, this one. Did you guys hear this story? You might have if you're listening to us earlier this morning. Shannon talked about it. Did you hear that somebody actually got into and breached the White House grounds? It was a toddler that caused for the Secret Service to start freaking out that somebody got through the fence.

03:01:33 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 1:

The White House is among the most secure complexes in the world. But today, the North Lawn was breached by a toddler. The curious kiddo squeezed his way through the metal fence on the north side of the mansion. Access to the White House complex was temporarily restricted while Secret Service officers reunited the child with his parents on Pennsylvania Avenue. This may be the first successful intrusion onto White House grounds since the fence height was doubled to 13 feet in 2019.

03:02:02 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I remember it was doubled because there was somebody that did climb over the fence.

03:02:05 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm thinking about people squeezing through.

03:02:07 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 3:

They've actually had people that tried to parachute into the White House grounds. They've had people that, you know, have tried to climb trees to try to get into them. To be fair, my three-year-old made it to the top of the fridge the other day. And I have no idea. I mean, they get in place and figure it out. And this has gone viral. We talked yesterday about cleaning up after being on an airplane. Remember the popcorn story about the baseball player's wife that didn't clean up and then told her that she had to clean up? Well, now a screaming baby has gone viral. A passenger on a flight to Florida couldn't take it any longer and had a full-on meltdown and started shouting at the kids' parents and the flight staff. And then the guy that was sitting across the aisle recorded the whole thing.

03:02:55 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 4:

That child has been crying for three minutes. Lower that. You can't put your finger in my face. By the way, this guy swears the entire time. Take a listen. Calm the child down. Three years. I had headphones on. I was sleeping. Why is the baby out? I'm not screaming. You want me to scream? You want me to scream? I'll scream. Please stop the baby. Wow. Please. Bro, please. That child was a black baby. What the f*** would be happening right now? I know you're not going there. You're not going there. I'm f***ing going there.

03:03:36 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he says, if that child was a black baby, it would not have been happening. Then he goes on And for another like couple of minutes While the flight attendants are trying to Control him There's no word on what happened to him I'm assuming that this guy Ended up getting in trouble when he got off Of the flight but man that would be

03:03:57 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 2:

Boarding an airplane with a baby I'm talking about if it's your baby Like your anxiety level Is through the roof What's more anxiety You are praying that that baby does not cry Like that

03:04:09 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 3:

What's more anxiety, the baby crying or some a-hole yelling at the baby that's crying?

03:04:13 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 2:

No, I get it. I get it. But...
