00:02:37 - 00:02:38 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:03:00 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 7:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's nice to have you guys here with us today. I've got a good show for you. We have a major announcement coming up at 8 a.m. today on the show. And it's involving a member of this radio show. So you'll hear that coming up at 8 o'clock this morning. We put some kind of post up on all of our socials yesterday. Family meeting. It's a family meeting at 8 o'clock. Be here if you're part of this family. And if you miss it, then you're not part of this family. Then we don't feel like you're going to be invited to the next family meeting.

00:04:05 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 5:

I cannot tell you how many people texted, DMed, called me wanting the details. Did you tell them? Absolutely not. I did.

00:04:17 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 7:

You know what? You're not part of this family. By the way, this family needs to be like a little Italian family. We need to have a little bit of fear in this family sometimes.

00:04:25 - 00:04:27 | Speaker 2:

I said, hold on, let me converse you in with so-and-so.

00:04:28 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 6:

Now I just feel left out because nobody reached out to me about him.

00:04:31 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 7:

I heard nothing either.

00:04:34 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 6:

My DMs on Instagram, once that post went up, were like, is it this, this, this, this, this? Is it this person, this person, this person? Is this person, you know, whatever?

00:04:45 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

And I'm like, I'm still getting people telling me that my back looks horrible from videos from last week. I got nothing on that. So people are far behind. In a week they'll call They'll say something That's usually what ends up happening

00:05:00 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

um big news by the way uh breaking news this morning uh pope francis has died at the age of 88 the pope who yesterday was his first public appearance out and about in the pope mobile doing a little riding through the crowd on easter sunday they say died easter monday um and we're getting details on that and shannon's going to have more on it coming up in a little bit But, I mean, is that – I mean, as a guy that went to 12 years of Catholic school and is Catholic, I think that's a beautiful thing. I mean, if I'm going to die, die on Easter, which would be just an amazing thing, makes me wonder sometimes. Like, I have such conspiracy thoughts. In the past, I would be like, oh, this is great that God took him on this day. And that's the way it should be. Instead, now I'm thinking – He probably died last Wednesday. That's what I'm wondering. Well, I'm just wondering who – you know, maybe it was AI or something or whatever. Who knows? A.I. Francis? I don't know. So you're telling me he hasn't been seen in quite some time, and then yesterday he pulls up? No, he was seen. He was seen from the balcony, but it was the first time that he's been out in the crowd, and he was out in the crowd, and he was blessing children. He was in the Popemobile. Oh, my gosh. Could have been a hologram. But it wasn't like a weekend at Bernie's. He was moving. He was moving. Yeah, you can see him doing the blessings and all the rest of that stuff. Is that a better blessing? Well, it's amazing. I mean, that's honestly, that's pretty awesome. I'm sure that there will be people. I mean, one of the last people that got a chance to actually sit down with him was Vice President J.D. Vance had a meeting with him. Yesterday. So a lot of people. I think I got canceled. No, met with him and met with his. And he, by the way, I didn't know this. I had no clue until I heard the news this morning on my way into work. I didn't know that he was only he only converted to Catholicism in 2019. So he's like, no. No, the Pope, but I thought the thing that was surprising me about the Pope was that the Pope didn't become a priest until he was 32 years old. He didn't decide to become a priest until late in his life, which was pretty wild. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. Celebrated the holiday weekend with my sons in Chicago. We had two out of the three. We went to visit Jacob, and we picked up Luke on the way in East Lansing. I got to tell you, though, something I did, and I've never done this before. And if you have ever done this, I want you to call us up. Have you ever gone on a vacation, got to your destination and realized you did not pack your clothes or did not bring your bag with you? I went to Chicago. We loaded up the Tahoe on Friday. Chelsea had me also throw some stuff in for Luke because Luke, we were picking up at college and, of course, had no clean clothes. So we had to go. Chelsea went up to his room, grabbed some stuff. I put some stuff in the bag, everything like this.

00:07:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

so i packed uh two bags for myself only to bring one bag which is the bag that is luke's bag and not my bag and got to chicago with nothing oh my god we're at the hotel pulling all the you know bags out of the car and as we're pulling all the bags out of the car of the hotel i'm like where's my bag where's my bag right where's my bag did it fall out of that where's it going you know going on the whole deal i mean we had stopped along the way too like we had stopped and gotten you know mcdonald's along the way and stopped along the way and gotten gas and i'm thinking did somebody come into the back of the car and steal it like what's going on i got home from the whole weekend and there it is the bag is sitting right by the door so i went so this was my friday um in chicago we got there probably like six or five six o'clock at night something like that i don't know because we left a little later than we wanted to leave and we got to the the hotel uh i was panicking thank god that uh that i married to a woman who has dealt with me and my panic before and all the issues that i have in my life she's calming me down and trying it's okay it's all right don't worry about it i'm like freaking out wondering what i'm gonna do And it was kind of wild. I ended up going to, I had to go to Walgreens. So I wear contacts. Yeah. I went to the car and I have an extra pair of contacts, thank God, that I keep in the car. Because I wear disposable contacts just in case, you know, a contact rips, you know, at work or wherever I'm at, I have an extra pair of contacts. So I had that. I had to go to Walgreens and go get all the stuff. Deodorant, you know, I had to go get a, you know, contact lens case, saline solution, all that stuff. Do you even know what monastia is? Is it for my vaginitis? Is that what monastia is for? So then had to figure out clothes. And I have to be honest with you guys. It was after all said and done. I'm worried about my, you know, am I going to find something in my size? Thank God I've lost weight.

00:10:00 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

was honestly a year ago i would have had a hard time finding stuff yeah like i would have been literally stuck with you know tommy bahama which fits every guy but you know scott mick by the way needs to grow out of the tommy bahama now he's skinny enough that he can he doesn't have to do

00:10:15 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

although he loves the comfort doesn't he say it one more time that's his identity he can't

00:10:19 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 5:

it really is you'd be blown away to see how expensive that those clothes are although

00:10:25 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 3:

Although, Tommy Bahama does have some stuff cool.

00:10:30 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

He loves wearing a linen Tommy Bahama shirt. Oh, he loves it.

00:10:34 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 3:

All right, so I went, got a couple of outfits, got a few pair of underwear, which was nice. I got some new underwear now.

00:10:41 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 4:

How about shoes? Did you have to buy new shoes? No, I wore my Hokus that I had the whole time.

00:10:45 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so that's good. That's good.

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Hokus, you can get about 3,000 miles on those, I want to say. That's right.

00:10:51 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 3:

I had to get socks, so I did have to go get socks.

00:10:53 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 4:

There's nothing like fresh socks, guys. This is how you know when you're getting old. Fresh undies, fresh socks. I'm happy.

00:10:59 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 3:

But it was a panic. I mean, you just went to Denver. Could you imagine if you went there and had no clothes?

00:11:03 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't have imagined that.

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

I'd live for it.

00:11:05 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

00:11:06 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 2:

You would have loved that.

00:11:07 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

You're forced to get new stuff.

00:11:08 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's a sapping spree.

00:11:09 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 4:

It's great. I've never forgotten my stuff, but the first trip that Wes and I took together, they lost my suitcase. And so I did it. They finally found it. I didn't get it until the next day, but I had to go do like, I had to go buy all my Like makeup and, you know, sunscreen, whatever, lotion, that kind of stuff.

00:11:27 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the thing. And that's how Chell's kind of calmed me down. Chell's like, hey, the airlines do this all the time. It happened to our friend Leah. Leah was in Paris when this happened. It happened to Leah. She was in Paris. That would honestly. Do you know how much that would panic me, Paris? Because I wouldn't know.

00:11:44 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 4:

They don't have the same stuff. You know JCPenney's in there?

00:11:47 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 3:

They don't have Tommy Bahama. And they don't have fat people. So fat guys don't work in Paris. Bill, this happened to you?

00:11:59 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 1:

So I went to Ireland, and when I started unpacking, I realized I forgot my shirts. Oh, my gosh. Wait, so you went there shirtless.

00:12:06 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 3:

That sounds like an Irish fun time, though.

00:12:09 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 1:

Every picture has the same shirt.

00:12:11 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, does it really?

00:12:12 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's kind of funny.

00:12:14 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 3:

Did you have them clean it, though, or were you able to do that, or did you have to make sure you put a lot of deodorant on? uh just a little bit of bulging yeah because that that was the other thing too was that how many shirts do you buy i ended up having i i think i had the same quarter zip that i wore the entire weekend so i was like wearing that almost the entire time and then the weather uh in in i don't know what the weather was like for you in ireland but the weather in chicago was very similar to the weather here where it was up and down and up and down like it was cold it was you know the only

00:12:47 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 5:

thing that sucks is buying like winter gear like if i had to go somewhere and buy a new winter coat

00:12:51 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 3:

i would be pissed i would too well i had to here's that i wore shorts to chicago and then had to buy pants in chicago which was really weird because it was the next day gonna be like friday was 70 degrees you can't wait to wear shorts i i put wait you it was 70 degrees on friday you didn't put

00:13:08 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 2:

you wait a little bit you'd be so eager you're the you know what you're the same guy i think you're afraid of your legs you're the same guy my legs are beautiful if you're a basketball player

00:13:18 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 3:

you probably have a shirt underneath your jersey wouldn't you you'd be patrick ewing in it maybe i don't think i've ever seen you in shorts what yeah i've never seen you in i go to sleep in

00:13:25 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 1:

shorts in the summertime really what's up crystal hi hi good morning so i'm a big cruiser and if you the airline loses your luggage or if you forget your luggage they you cannot buy clothes oh my

00:13:39 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 4:

I never thought about cruise ships, yeah. Oh, you're really screwed, then.

00:13:43 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

And they don't really have anything to go to ports-wise, except for what's that one bar that's always there and everybody wears it?

00:13:50 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, frog. Yeah, senior frogs. Senior frogs.

00:13:53 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you got to get your senior frog shirt.

00:13:56 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:13:57 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that sucks. You know what?

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 5:

That's the worst.

00:14:01 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 3:

If I ever went on a cruise, I'd have to have a carry-on bag with at least one day or two days worth of clothes.

00:14:07 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And a bathing suit.

00:14:08 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 3:

and a bathing suit. Honestly, I'd rather do without the bathing suit. I'd rather, honestly, just not swim.

00:14:13 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 5:

No, you've got to do it because once you get on the boat, it's going to be like seven hours until you get your luggage. So if you want to get in the pool before everybody else, put it in your car.

00:14:19 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you think I'm going in the pool? If I'm going in the pool, again, I'm like Kevin. I'm wearing sweatpants or something inside of the thing. Thanks for the call, Crystal. All in all, though, it actually turned out okay, and it proved the point of you don't need to pack that much, too. Like how much you overpack.

00:14:37 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 5:

Every time.

00:14:37 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 3:

Like, I unpacked the stuff that I had inside of the bag, and I'm going, what the hell did I need that for? Like, what did I need that for?

00:14:44 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:14:44 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 3:

But I'll still double pack next time.

00:14:46 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 2:

You just got to buy a smaller suitcase.

00:14:48 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 3:

Well.

00:14:49 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 5:

No, I still overpack. A smaller suitcase? Oh, I will stay one night somewhere and take seven outfits with me.

00:14:54 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:14:55 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you're a girl, though.

00:14:56 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

That's what y'all do.

00:14:56 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Megan, we went to the I Heart Radio Music Pack. I've never seen someone pack like that. Megan. When we went to the iHeartRadio Music Festival, she comes racing through the terminal with the biggest bag I have ever seen. It's a monster.

00:15:09 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 1:

One was filled with makeup. Oh my god. Hey, hey, but all weekend, who are you going to when you needed something?

00:15:16 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 2:

It was like a Walgreens in my bathroom. It was great. It was amazing.

00:15:20 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 6:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year

00:16:52 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 3:

All happened in the same year. This was the year that Carrie Underwood won Best New Artist.

00:16:57 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 1:

This is absolutely unbelievable. There's so much. I love country music, first of all.

00:17:03 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 3:

The big movie was Talladega Nights starring Will Ferrell.

00:17:09 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 5:

Eight pound, six ounce, newborn infant Jesus. Don't even know a word yet. Just a little infant and so cuddly, but still omnipotent. We just thank you for all the races I've won and the $21 million.

00:17:23 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

Panic at the Disco, big song. What year was this? What year did all three of those things happen? Corey, tell me that you got the right year.

00:17:34 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 4:

2006.

00:17:35 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 3:

It was 2006. Congratulations. You got tickets to see Halsey. We're going to set you up with a pair of those.

00:17:44 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Shake and bake, baby. Shake and bake. I love it.

00:17:55 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 3:

Thanks so much. Hold on one second. We'll get you set up with those. Have a great day, bud.

Shannon is going to be doing the dirty every single hour and right before she does it, we will give you that opportunity.

00:18:49 - 00:18:52 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:52 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30 this morning. We have breaking news for the Dirty on the 30 to start off.

00:19:00 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Breaking Dirty this morning. Pope Francis has died. If you are just waking up and getting this news, he was 88 years old. I mean, to pass away on Easter Monday as the Pope, that's just wild to me. But the Vatican's announcement comes just really hours after the Pope made a very public appearance for the Easter holiday. Happy Easter. Just before that, he actually sat down for a brief meeting with Vice President J.D. Vance. Now, here's what's going to happen from here on out. His death will prompt a period of mourning after which all of the cardinals from all around the world under the age of 80 will convene to pick the next leader of the Catholic Church. And that process typically takes, God, I would say between two and three weeks for the new pope to be chosen, the conclave.

00:20:00 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Let's watch the movie, The Conclave.

00:20:01 - 00:20:04 | Speaker 3:

It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

00:20:04 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 2:

It'll probably get a boost in views now that this is happening. The white smoke, that's all going to happen.

00:20:08 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 1:

I wonder, yeah, I wonder if the movie will actually be streamed a little bit more. Can I tell you that, you know, the way that Benedict left, which was unheard of, we never saw something like that at all, which was him resigning and then how the book came in. It took away a lot of that conclave pageantry that takes place. But I will say that it is wild to see how they do this whole thing. This morning, they say the moment that they knew that the Holy Father died, that the person who's like his secretary of state had to go over and like lock up his apartment because he lived in a, what is it called when a hostel, right? They lived in, he lived in a, he rented a room in a hostel. He got rid of all of the, you know, big expensive stuff and lived amongst other people. So they had to go in there and lock up everything to make sure that all of his writings, all of his readings, everything like that will go into history.

00:21:04 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 3:

Now, I didn't talk about it during awards season. Can we talk about Conclave now? Has it been out long enough or have so few people seen it that, like, you don't want to spoil it? Well, listen. I mean, don't. Let him rest their day. You can't talk about it without spoiling it.

00:21:20 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 2:

Or there's, like, a huge twist, I guess you could say. Go off. I'm going to just turn my headphones off.

00:21:25 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 3:

The thing that irritated me about this award show season was when LGBT things were talked about, and it was only Emilio Perez. And I was like, watch other movies!

00:21:35 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 2:

And that is a huge piece of conclave.

00:21:37 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 3:

Watch other movies!

00:21:39 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. Okay, Kev, you good?

00:21:41 - 00:21:41 | Unknown:

All right.

00:21:41 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 2:

People are, by the way, more on the Pope's death, of course, in Every Dirty Throughout the Morning as we're getting updates as well. People are fed up with what Coachella has become. Thanks to influencers, this comes as a surprise to probably nobody. The popular music festival held in Indio, California every single year the past two weekends. Unfortunately, in recent years, Coachella has become more of a who's who, who's wearing what type of event compared to what it was 26 years ago when it first originated. It was a legitimate music festival for music fans. So people are now just kind of poo-pooing on it and blaming these influencers for the insanely high price of tickets, which I did not understand, started at $649 per weekend. And then the food, I mean, you weren't going to get away with a meal for less than $100. Gaga, headlining again this past weekend, had some technical issues. Her mic kept cutting in and out.

00:22:34 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 3:

To the angels, drawing circles in the clouds. When the devil turns around

00:22:47 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 2:

She eventually came around and apologized to all of her little monsters who were in the audience watching

00:22:56 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry my mic was broken for a second At least you know I sing live That's clean, that's clean I guess all we can do is our best, right? I'm definitely giving you my best tonight I love you so much Is there anything to her mic cutting out when she was talking about devils and all that stuff? Huh, Megan? What do you think?

00:23:15 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 3:

This is so incarnated. What do we think? She is not the devil reincarnated. Hold on a second. There are actually demons and devils in the world. All right? Most of them have been elected.

00:23:25 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 1:

I think the Pope maybe had something to do with it.

00:23:28 - 00:23:29 | Unknown:

It's not her.

00:23:31 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you. It's not her.

00:23:32 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Most of them have been elected. It's not her. By the way, next hour, we have to talk about Bieber. Bieber at Coachella.

00:23:38 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 1:

What did Bieber do at Coachella? Was he doing bad stuff? Looking good. Oh, not looking good? Mm-mm.

00:23:44 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy. We'll get into it next hour. Diddy denied his ask to delay his sex trafficking and racketeering trial by two months, made the request saying he needed some more time to respond to some of the newer charges against him and access emails from one of the alleged victims in particular. That ruling came on Friday, though, from a U.S. district judge who said Did these attorneys make the request way too close to the start of the trial, which kicks off May 5th? So jury selection happening that day. Opening statements are expected to be heard about a week later.

00:24:16 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Stream it live. They're not going to do it.

00:24:19 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 2:

You can't because of the victim. All the victims. Well, they're not going to do it, too.

00:24:22 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 1:

I found out that it's the New York courts, which is the same court that Weinstein had is, and they don't have cameras in the courtroom.

00:24:30 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'll get drawings. I love those drawings. I hate those drawings. I love them. I love them. It feels like SVU. And lastly, Sinners, the vampire thriller led by Michael B. Jordan, debuted at number one over the weekend with just about $46 million in ticket sales, pushing a Minecraft movie, the year's biggest hit, to number two, $41.3 million. In its third week of release, The King of Kings, the animated tale of Jesus' life, came in at number three.

00:24:58 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Did you go see that, Kev? You were saying that?

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 3:

We had a lazy weekend. I'm supposed to go see it today with Josiah before I take him to his mom to start his week.

00:25:06 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 5:

So I tried to start Passionate of Christ with him last night. I watched part of that over the weekend with Wes. Why? I forgot it wasn't in English. Yeah. Okay. So. I swear I don't remember that. Do you want to know what's so funny? He said the same thing. He's like, I think I've got the wrong one on here. And he was like flipping through to try to change the language. He's like, nope. I forgot. This is it. That is one of those you can watch once and I never need to see it again. You wanted me to see it. I've never seen it. It's very difficult. 00:26:56 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 1:

It does. It definitely does.

00:28:09 - 00:28:09 | Unknown:

Mm-hmm.

00:28:09 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 3:

How long ago was that?

00:28:12 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. And what happened? I won a couple of games, and I got knocked out.

00:28:19 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 3:

All right. Okay. Well, let's see. Did you learn anything the last time that you played that will help you this time?

00:28:26 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, sure.

00:28:28 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 3:

00:30:04 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 2:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area.

00:30:09 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Bruno. No wonder. He only got two right. No, come on. Bruno. Oh, Bruno. Jesus Christ. I've had some dumb bastards in my time. And there were two gimmies that I just did in the dirt.

00:30:23 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Bruno, Bruno, Bruno. Well, he's here for the parting gift. Hopefully it's a good one. Question number one, Desiree. The Pope passed away earlier today at the age of 88. What was the Pope's name?

00:30:36 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 1:

Pope Francis. Yes. One did nothing. Nope, that's all we needed.

00:30:42 - 00:30:56 | Speaker 2:

Benedict was the last Pope. That's what Bruno said. Question number two. Miley Cyrus' dad hard-launched his new relationship over the weekend. What was the name of the hit song that Billy Ray did with Lil Nas X?

00:30:58 - 00:30:59 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. She just rolls along. Tim Allen was dropping hints about the plot to the new Toy Story 5 movie. Which character does Tim play in that movie franchise? Buzz Lightyear.

00:31:28 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 3:

Yes, he plays.

00:31:29 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 2:

Here we go. And question number five, the Detroit Pistons lost Saturday to the New York Knicks. They'll play again tonight. Is that series a best of five or seven games?

00:31:44 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm going to have to guess on this one. I'm going to guess five.

00:31:47 - 00:31:47 | Unknown:

No.

00:31:47 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 2:

You guys missed that one. No, best of seven. They're now doing best of sevens. I would have thought that too, but I guess they want more TV revenue. It's been a long time. We got a winner again.

00:31:58 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 3:

Desiree.

00:31:58 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes. All I do is win, win, win, no matter what. Desiree, congratulations to you on a big win. You end up walking away with this one. We're going to set you up with a parting gift, Bruno. You remember the deal. You get to claim this prize. You got a four-pack of tickets, four-pack of platinum passes to Urban Air Adventure Park. Congratulations.

00:32:26 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Platinum. Thank you. Fancy, fancy urban air.

00:32:31 - 00:32:45 | Speaker 2:

Thank you guys so much for treating our listeners with such dignity. All right, hold on one second. It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids.

00:32:45 - 00:32:50 | Speaker 3:

WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show.

00:32:51 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Mornings live. we're one hour away from a major announcement on this show so one hour away from a major major announcement uh we're gonna have a family meeting at eight o'clock you guys are invited and you're gonna want to hear this because it will definitely be something that will change the uh trajectory of the mojo in the morning show as well as uh will change a person's life so uh we're going to uh talk about that coming up at eight o'clock make sure that you're listening and i don't want to anybody to go with any of the rumors that are on tiktok right now that i am leaving to become the next pope so it has nothing to do with it although if i was pope i would probably choose a name like pope mojo just for the sake of there's never been i know you're supposed to take a saint's name but mojo is not is a saint to me as far as i'm concerned Thank you. Wouldn't that be wild if out of the blue they could just choose, like, random people could be the thing?

00:33:54 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 3:

That'd be fire, low kid.

00:33:56 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't it?

00:33:56 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 3:

It probably wouldn't work.

00:33:58 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah?

00:33:58 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 3:

You can't be out here doing dumb stuff as the Pope. You'll mess up the whole vibe.

00:34:03 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what? We've seen other things happen that have been crazy, so we'll see what happens.

00:34:08 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm not too familiar on Pope Talk.

00:34:11 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

I know. You're not a Pope, right? You're not a Pope. Who's the Pope of your faith? I just believe in Jesus Christ. I know, but do you have like a denomination of your faith at all? Are you just non-denominational Christian or anything like that?

00:34:25 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever gone to a Catholic service? Never been. To see like some of the, you know, ritual and pumping.

00:34:31 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 2:

You're missing out on stand, sit, kneel, kneel, sit, stand, kneel, sit.

00:34:35 - 00:34:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but Easter's the best because they have all the incense in the water. Oh, it smells so good.

00:34:39 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Did you see, by the way, in the Philippines, I don't know if this is true, but there was a philippine uh priest that had a it looked like um you know the thing that you spray your weeds with he was shooting it out shooting out the holy water in one of those instead of uh yeah no it wasn't i during covid the priests were doing the crazy thing of squirting With a squirt gun. Because at that time, everybody thought that, you know, if the Pope touched you with anything, you were going to die. So you would think that holy water would be the thing that would make you, you know, alive. But they got the Pope so far away from you that he was squirting you from a distance and stuff. Thanks.

00:35:15 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 3:

I thought they canceled that.

00:35:17 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 2:

They did not. Well, they did. Eventually, they told you you couldn't go to church. I mean, nobody was. Remember that? Remember when no churches could have church?

00:35:26 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 1:

You could watch it on TV. He really missed it.

00:35:29 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're meaning, I know you're saying, no, you don't, come on. Let's not. I had good experience at church. That's where you draw the line? I had a good experience at church. Oh, okay. Let's, I never had any of the stuff that sadly affected, you know, people. But I did know some family members and friends that had that. That's tough. It was very, very sad. But, all right, we'll have more on the Pope dying coming up here in a little bit. But the big news this morning, bigger than the Pope dying. because we knew he was going to die. The guy was 88 years old. He was in bad health. The story or the big thing at 8 o'clock, nobody's going to see this one coming. So make sure that you're listening. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. How was your Easter, Kevin? It was a vibe. What did you do? It looked like I saw you went to church. I saw the picture.

00:36:18 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 1:

Who was I with you?

00:36:19 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 3:

I saw Joe Sian. Grandma was in there. Uncle Paul was in there. Great to see Uncle Paul battling cancer. This is the first time I've seen him in a very long time. Paul, I love it. Yeah, thanks. Cousin Brandy, Laina, Laino, Breer, I mean, Bre, Mir, they're brother and sister. I kind of merged their names together. Yeah, so the whole family's out there. And then my cousin, shout out to Gerard. Y'all know Gerard. He pulled up to my birthday, him and Chrissy. So Gerard texted me. Church started at 11. Gerard ain't pulled up to church. So Gerard texted me.

00:36:47 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 2:

He was like, yo. Wait, is that your way of selling him out that he didn't go to church?

00:36:50 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, he ain't go to church. Like, you didn't need to bring that up.

00:36:53 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 1:

I think you did.

00:36:54 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 3:

I just like to give full context. So Gerard didn't come to church, so he had to text me and say, hey, slide by. We have a family dinner at 5. So in my mind, I'm like, okay, you didn't have breakfast this morning. You got up and went straight to church. We're not going to eat anything, and we're going to pig out at 5 p.m. once we get to family dinner. That was my plan. Plan executed to perfection. I show up to family dinner maybe 5, 5, 10, walking in through the garage because it was up. Through the garage, there's the kitchen. All the food is laid out. What kind of food are we talking about? I'm talking, we got chicken wings that are to die for. Hot, spicy, just like I like them. Okay. Rice, greens with the bacon in there, turkey meat in them joints. Okay. They got turkey legs on there. He got some type of beef situation. Macaroni and cheese, greens. The spread is spreading. So I walk in. I say hi. I'm in the kitchen. I grab a plate. Bon. Plate filled to the nines. Go in the room. It's playoffs on, so I'm watching the game. Smash my first plate. Bang. Go back into the kitchen. Get my second plate ready to go. How full is the second one? Second one. Look like the first one. Wow. We just got a little bit more chicken wings on this one. Okay. All right. The first time you eat, you kind of get a little of everything. Did I say that we had yams?

00:38:10 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 1:

Then you get a lot of what you liked on the first one. You said the plate was full.

00:38:15 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 2:

It was.

00:38:15 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:38:16 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

Like built like a pyramid. It's like rising. First off, you guys keep throwing them off, Bang. Where are we going with this? Where are we going? What did you do?

00:38:23 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 3:

I had a plate of full. Okay. Bang, bang the second plate out, bang, then I rest a little bit, going to the kitchen to reload for a third, and then my auntie in there, she's like, oh, going back again for another plate. I'm like, yeah, I'm hungry. She's like, hmm, you're really hungry, aren't you? Yeah. And then it starts the conversation. They're like, how many plates can I have at the function? And I'm like, as many as I have, the food is here for us to eat, right? Yeah. That's what I'm saying. So is there a limit on how many plates I'm supposed to have?

00:38:49 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 1:

Your auntie was shaming you because you had three plates?

00:38:51 - 00:38:52 | Speaker 3:

A little bit.

00:38:52 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 1:

See, I hosted yesterday, and we have so much leftover food. I should have called you because I think that you eat until the food is gone. You are entitled to as many plates as you want until the food is gone.

00:39:07 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 2:

But maybe Auntie wanted to have some leftovers for the week.

00:39:10 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, then she should have put some aside after everybody had their second plates.

00:39:13 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 2:

But maybe more people were coming. We don't know. It could have been more people showing up. No, it wasn't a big function like that.

00:39:18 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 3:

And it's not Auntie House. It's not your house. Just because you're an elder, don't mean you can control how many plates I get. You're going to tell her that? No. I know you're not going to tell her that.

00:39:28 - 00:39:35 | Speaker 1:

How many people were there? It was like maybe eight. And they had all already had their first plates and maybe seconds. Yeah, but just sign out when the last one's there.

00:39:35 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she's worried about your health. I mean, you know. Oh, my gosh. Ugh. Look at how fat you are. Maybe there's a little bit of auntie working. It's none of that. It's none of that. I saw your mom in the picture. I saw grandma. They didn't come. They didn't come. So you were eating for them, too?

00:39:53 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

No, I was eating for myself. Told you. We wait the whole time. You're getting a little happy with these fats. You stop those imping.

00:40:01 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 4:

We're going to see what happens. Give me back up.

00:40:05 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 3:

It's Manjuro. Pro Francis can't heal you. No, he gone. Wait, where is auntie's number? I want to call auntie. I've been asleep, bro. She's old. What about J.G.? J.G.

00:40:15 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 6:

Or Gerard. Sorry, Gerard. Gerard. Are Gerard? J.G. the same person? No, no, no. No separate people.

00:40:21 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 4:

So Gerard.

00:40:21 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 6:

Sorry, I had to think about that for a second.

00:40:23 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 3:

No, no. Not all black people look the same.

00:40:26 - 00:40:27 | Unknown:

Wow, Shannon.

00:40:28 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 6:

Wow. people i couldn't remember michael jordan and michael b jordan are different people wow so look

00:40:34 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 4:

so gerard said that you can have a max of two plates he said agreed and this included if you

00:40:41 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 3:

have a to-go plate disagree agreed disagree i thought i had gerard's number in my phone if

00:40:45 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 5:

there is still food call gerard and they're not putting the food away you are welcome to that food

00:40:50 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 7:

and your first plate should be small what oh absolutely because if you scoop up like a ton And you said mac and cheese, right? Mac and cheese can be very hit or miss in my culture. All right? You know what I mean?

00:41:02 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 4:

It's hitting every time at Creasy Hall.

00:41:04 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 7:

But at my house, hit or miss, baby. That's a real big hit or miss. So if you pile up your plate and then you throw away that giant pile of macaroni, you're the bad guy. You got to do a small plate first. You got to taste test everything. That's smart. You got to see what's good. You got to see what's bad. And then your second plate, which is your only allowable extra plate, is just the good stuff piled up to where you're going to be full. You eat until it's done.

00:41:27 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 3:

You are eating way too much, Kevin, and I'm worried about you. Bro, listen. You got diabetes in your family? I do not want.

00:41:33 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 4:

Do I have diabetes? Do I have diabetes in my family? What's happening on this show? What do you have in your family? Do they all look alike?

00:41:39 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't want.

00:41:40 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 4:

Do they all have the same diseases? No.

00:41:41 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

I know you have diabetes. Come on. Come on. I would. We all do.

00:41:44 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 4:

Let me slow it up. Where are you golfing?

00:41:46 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm calling Gerard.

00:41:47 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm about to let it fly. You got Gerard's number?

00:41:49 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I got Gerard's number. We went golfing, so I got Gerard's number.

00:41:51 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 4:

Gerard's not JG. I told you he's asleep, bro. Y'all don't listen. No, no, no. Gerard.

00:41:56 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 3:

All right, hold on, Gerard. By the way, why do we go back? I remember that. He goes by a different name. Hold on. His real name is William. Hold on.

00:42:03 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

At the tone, please record your message. I think this is better than that. When you have finished recording, you may hang up or press one for more options.

00:42:11 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Gerard, it's Mojo. I need you to call us stat. We need to find out what we can do for our friend Kevin. He's eating way too much at the family functions. and I know that auntie is not going to be happy about that. So can you call us back, please? Thank you. Donnie wants to make a comment. What's going on, Donnie?

00:42:30 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 8:

Hey, good morning.

00:42:31 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Donnie. What's up?

00:42:34 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 8:

Kevin's the reason why his family has a limit for Thanksgiving.

00:42:38 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Kevin, how many plates did you have at Thanksgiving?

00:42:42 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 4:

I don't remember, bro.

00:42:43 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 3:

That was a while ago. I eat until I stop. That's the rule. Well, but you can't just keep going up to the buffet. Why?

00:42:53 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 4:

The food is there. Like, we can just throw it away? Or they going to put it in their refrigerator leftover for a few days and then throw it away after nobody wants it? Yep, that's exactly what happens.

00:43:02 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys, I don't know if you remember this. This radio show got kicked out one time, Donnie, at the Chinese buffet in Novi. We went up to so many times that they literally put a ban on Mojo in the Morning Show meetings at the Chinese buffet. Those were the greatest buffets ever, too.

00:43:21 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 7:

But that's the place where you can get eight plates, eight small plates.

00:43:24 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the problem. Their plates were not big enough.

00:43:26 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

Right.

00:43:27 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 3:

So that was a little bit of a problem.

00:43:28 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 4:

That's fair. Now, again, this is my family. If I come to one of y'all's house, there are different rules. You don't eat the same outside the house that you do inside the house.

00:43:36 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you're saying that you're only allowed to if they know you are an eater?

00:43:41 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, I just have, I think there's a part where decorum comes in. And I think if you're going to somebody else's home, you know, you act a little better.

00:43:50 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 3:

Allie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Allie.

00:43:53 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. How is everybody? Fantastic.

00:43:56 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:43:58 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 2:

So, Megan, those are for real white people problems. For sure. Yep. I'm from the south side of Chicago, like Mojo. Yes. And you can pick different cultures and you definitely know what to eat, where you walk into.

00:44:11 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely. It is hard to be white on the holidays. All right. I recognize there is a privilege associated with my color, but it does not present itself in the kitchen. You sold my joke, you ball. We didn't take any seasonings with us. We saw salt, and we were like, that's it, and the tiniest. That's all we get out of it. A whisper of salt.

00:44:35 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 4:

Somebody sneezed one time over a jar of salt. That's what we get. I haven't been to white people's house on the holidays. Don't.

00:44:42 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 5:

It's disappointing. Don't go. I know you were saying all these like foods that were out on the counter and we had like four options in my house yesterday. Oh really? I'm starting to think that I was like not a great hostess.

00:44:56 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 3:

We have lots of options and we have a lot of food. The problem is sometimes when you have a lot of boys, the boys eat. We have to tell the boys ahead of time before you guys go that you're only allowed like if it were up to my kids, they would choose like 28,000 rolls and they would eat a pile of.

00:45:13 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

As long as they Hawaiian rolls, they're good.

00:45:15 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 3:

They love those Hawaiian rolls.

00:45:16 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 1:

See, the problem with us is everybody, we host Easter dinner and the problem is everybody goes elsewhere for Easter brunch or lunch. So by the time they come to us, they're not even hungry. I've learned my lesson of not making a bajillion things. You do a dessert spread.

00:45:28 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 3:

My favorite brunches are not the brunches that the kids like these days. My favorite brunches are the buffets, brunches. They used to call brunches where there's like sections. There's like breakfast in one area, dinner in the other, salad in the other. You know what I mean?

00:45:42 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 1:

My favorite brunch is mimosas. That's it. That's what makes a brunch.

00:45:46 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Whitney?

00:45:47 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

It's just breakfast.

00:45:49 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 4:

One plate, ten plate. We all want to know about Mojo's ass.

00:45:53 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 3:

You want to know how many I had? I actually can't. No, I want to know.

00:45:56 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 4:

I want to know about your ass.

00:45:58 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you want to know about my ass? Say it again. My ass is getting better, thank God. Thank you for asking about it. Yes.

00:46:06 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 5:

I'm so happy. But one or ten plates.

00:46:09 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 3:

But I will tell you this. One or ten plates. I'm on a weight loss shot. I cannot do that many. And honestly, if I tried a second plate, I would throw up on myself. It's that bad. Which is good. What's up, Amanda? Hi.

00:46:26 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey. I just need to say, y'all need to leave Kevin alone. It was a holiday. You're allowed to pig out on a holiday. It's the American way.

00:46:34 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 3:

But his auntie wants to make sure that there's enough food for everyone, not just for Kevin.

00:46:40 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, his auntie probably go around telling everybody bad things about themselves. Who knows?

00:46:46 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 3:

Do you know at the Last Supper, if one of the disciples ate all the food, there wouldn't be enough for everybody. He's our Judas. Yes. So what's going on, Emily? How are you doing?

00:46:58 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I'm great. How are you?

00:46:59 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. What's up?

00:47:01 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 4:

So I feel like you have to follow the lead of the person who cooked the food or whose home you're in. Like, if I cook a whole lot of food and I need it going, I'm going to tell you, fix plates. Take plates. Come get more. Get seconds, right? But obviously, if I'm, like, hawking over the food, stash of stuff here and there, and you see it's almost gone, don't come back for another plate.

00:47:21 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So you would have done the same thing that Cav's aunt did to him. You would have said, Kevin, we need to know there are starving kids that are potentially coming over here.

00:47:34 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 4:

If I had to tap somebody on their shoulder because they are just outrageous, like this is their fourth plate, yeah. If you're not putting that in the bag to go, I'm going to need you to go sit down.

00:47:43 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 3:

And if family can't tell family that they need to back away, then who can tell you? You know what I mean? I think it's the same thing with alcohol. I think if people are over drinking, I think you've got to be able to say something. Just like if you're eating too much.

00:47:56 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 2:

it's not her house though and she didn't cook the food so like

00:48:01 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 1:

was there still food on the counter when you left? yeah and we were the last people to leave but like a lot of food or like a little bit

00:48:08 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 2:

I mean enough for a few plates you should have taken one more on the way out and she gave me one did you get a turkey leg? I was like no she was like take a turkey leg

00:48:19 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 3:

well at that point she's making fun of you by the way you're never invited over to her place

00:48:25 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 2:

and I'm about to throw them back.

00:48:27 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 3:

You're never invited over to her house.

00:48:29 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were about to say your house.

00:48:31 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 3:

Of course I am.

00:48:31 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Remember the last time Mojo had us over and we were rationed to like four grapes and one chicken finger?

00:48:36 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 3:

Mojo doesn't cook though.

00:48:37 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 2:

He gonna order in.

00:48:38 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 3:

No, I order in and I ordered in and they literally, they made it small portions. They made it recession proportions. All right.

00:48:51 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's Dirty coming up in less than 30.

00:48:53 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 1:

Give it some Mojo in the morning.

00:48:55 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Coming up, Shannon, on your one-year wedding anniversary.

00:49:02 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, May 4th. Wow. But you're not going to— Everybody just say the joke. May the 4th be with you. Oh, that's right. I hate that. I am in the doghouse because of this anniversary, by the way, already, and it hasn't even happened yet. Over the weekend, Wes and I were laying in bed, and he's—I can see him, like, looking at his calendar on his phone, And he had mentioned to me, because it's next weekend, right? Yeah, not this weekend, next weekend. He had mentioned to me that he wanted to take me downtown to do a dinner and a night, like a stay the night at a hotel downtown to celebrate our one-year anniversary, which is so fun and so nice that he was planning to do that. Except when I looked at my calendar on my phone, I realized I am out of town for the entire weekend with Lucy. on her fifth grade Girl Scout trip to a horse ranch. And...

00:50:00 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 3:

my bad one for not realizing that and going ahead and scheduling this with the Girl Scouts. But also I forgot to put it on our we share a calendar. So I didn't have it on our joint calendar. So he wasn't even aware that I was not going to be in town. And I knew right away, I made a huge mistake. And then I tried to make it sound better by saying but we come home on on our anniversary, We come home Sunday, May 4th at 8 a.m. So I'm like, I'll be home the whole day for the anniversary. But he's like the weekend shot. Like we can't do anything to celebrate the weekend.

00:50:37 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 1:

In retrospect, with Lucy having this, because obviously you can't change that. Would you have changed it or not gone? Or would you still have chosen to go for Lucy's thing?

00:50:49 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 3:

I mean, this, you guys know how I am about like overnight things. And so I have never stayed the night at a Girl Scout camp or whatever. This is specifically a fifth grade thing that they do for all the fifth grade girls who are leaving elementary school and going to middle school. So she had said at the beginning of the year when they announced that this was going to be the trip that they do, like, can we please go? Can we please go? Can we please spend the night? It's my last year. You know, they really get you with the guilt. And so I was like, OK, we'll do it. So I think I would have heard. I don't know what I would have done.

00:51:19 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Do you think he's mad that you chose to do it or that you forgot it was the same weekend? until you had to look it up. Because I'm going to be real honest. People forget anniversaries all the time. I mean, the anniversaries on the calendar. First one. They usually forget, like, the seventh one.

00:51:33 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, then I'm like, but we're going out. We're finally taking our honeymoon a year after we got married. We're taking our honeymoon at the end of June. I'm like, but I'll get to spend all that time with you celebrating. And he was like, it doesn't work that way. No, I know I am bad in the doghouse.

00:51:51 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 1:

You did a discussion on the air not that long ago where you talked about how you choose your kids a lot more over West. In this case, I definitely see that this Lucy thing is a big deal because even though it is your first anniversary and you are going to be back on your anniversary. And at that point, but I also think that you probably ahead of time should have said, hey, just a heads up. Lucy's got this thing.

00:52:18 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Which I didn't.

00:52:19 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Did you know and honestly say, God, I hope that it doesn't come, this doesn't come about? Because sometimes I actually know when something like this happens and I go, oh, God, I'm going to put it off until the moment because I'm too afraid to say something.

00:52:34 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 3:

Honest to God, didn't even think about it until he brought it up.

00:52:38 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 1:

Rosie, what do you think about this?

00:52:41 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 4:

Do not feel guilty, Shannon. Do not, do not, do not. For one, girls come first. Kids come first. there's other weekends you can make up to it another weekend yeah he does not feel that way so does he think that you should not go on this there'll be more anniversaries but there's only

00:53:01 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 3:

one fifth grade promotion that he did not ask me to not go by any means i am just feeling like a

00:53:07 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

real if he asked you how would that make you feel right he can't answer that he just i know he would never do that he wouldn't yeah well that's i'm wondering though next weekend but but but if if i and i don't think what i can't see west being that way that would he would ask i can see he's hurt and i understand that that's on that's understandable what if what if it was for

00:53:29 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 4:

his daughter's event and he missed it was the other two on the other foot how would he feel you mean how would i feel yeah um like if he forgot and he arranged something with his daughter Or would you feel just as, like, you're feeling? Probably the same way.

00:53:45 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 3:

Pretty crappy, but I would understand. But it's still crappy.

00:53:49 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 1:

Do you think he would have chose to go to his daughter's event?

00:53:52 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 3:

If she, so his daughter is, like, a track phenom. If it was, I'm trying to equate it like that. If it was, like, a huge track thing, he would probably choose that.

00:54:01 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Like, there are a lot of things that you're going to have. And I know his son's graduating. So there are some things that are going to be, like, the last event that he has in high school.

00:54:11 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 4:

Blended families, kids got to come first so they don't feel left out.

00:54:14 - 00:54:17 | Speaker 3:

I know, it's our first wedding anniversary.

00:54:17 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 1:

But you know what, it's funny, we talk to therapists all the time.

00:54:19 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 4:

There's going to be 29 million more.

00:54:21 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 1:

Therapists always say, don't put the kids ahead of your relationship because then it's bad for your relationship. And I never can understand that because I sit there and I think to myself, you're showing the kids that, you know, this is your family that you're caring about. And you're showing also that you guys can be flexible in how you do certain things. but uh erica what's up hi hi um i don't know what the other caller was talking about you only get

00:54:48 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

one first anniversary you only get one first anniversary and yeah but still i think you're minimizing it by saying yeah but we get the we get that one day i think i think

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 7:

You're definitely not putting Wes first, like you said, in Florida. How you don't consider him sometimes. So I'm on Team Wes. I'd be pissed. I'd be pissed.

00:55:09 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 6:

But, Erica, let me ask you this question. If years from now we sat down and we had Wes in one side of the room and Lucy in the other side of the room, and we said, remember the first wedding anniversary, remember the last Girl Scout event, But which one of those two is going to be the one that's going to be more hurt, you know, 10 years from now?

00:55:32 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 7:

I think Lucy will be her, but I think Shannon should have had her anniversary in front of mine to tell Lucy that's our anniversary. We can't do that.

00:55:40 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 6:

What about celebrating it this weekend instead of next weekend? I mean, the date.

00:55:45 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 7:

No, because that's still putting the child first.

00:55:48 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 6:

But, Erica, is the date that meaningful that you can't celebrate it another time? to west they're going on a honeymoon they're going on a honeymoon in july because they that's the time that's convenient for both of their vacation times i mean that's not they did they did a they got married a year ago they put off their honeymoon for like a year right but they that's what was

00:56:10 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 7:

convenient for them now he was planning something for their actual anniversary but he didn't know

00:56:15 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 5:

But to defend Shannon here, the anniversary is on Sunday. Yes. There was nothing planned for the entire weekend up until this point.

00:56:29 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It was a surprise. That's exactly what I was going to say.

00:56:31 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

None of the surprise. I know, but it's still like.

00:56:33 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 5:

But I wouldn't just assume, I would never just assume that he was going to do something the entire weekend for our anniversary unless he notified me at a time. So I don't think it's unreasonable for you to have plans on Friday and Saturday and keep the one-year anniversary still open on Sunday.

00:56:51 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 7:

But the thing about it is, Shannon already made plans for a period before even telling him or even knowing what he wanted to do for the anniversary weekend.

00:56:58 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 6:

But when did he say that he was going to do something for you?

00:57:01 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 4:

This was like Friday, Saturday. It was supposed to be a surprise.

00:57:03 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 6:

It was supposed to be a surprise. It was supposed to be a surprise. He was never going to say anything. He wasn't going to say anything. That's the definition of a surprise. He was going to then just...

00:57:11 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 5:

But then that doesn't work out sometimes. That's what you know when you set up a surprise is it might not work out.

00:57:16 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 6:

In his mind, though, he was setting up a surprise knowing that it was their wedding anniversary.

00:57:21 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:57:21 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 6:

So the dates are kind of there.

00:57:24 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 1:

Noe, what's up?

00:57:25 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:57:26 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, so me and my wife have been together 13 years. And so we put our girls first on all things because we figure we can always do our celebration on another day because it's not really the day. It's our love that we're celebrating. but we always have the rest of our life together that moment that we're going to miss with our

00:57:45 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 5:

kids will be gone that's right but you know everybody's not living like that uh katie

00:58:18 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 4:

and i know you'll understand this any parent would understand this i hate those things where either way you feel like you're disappointing somebody yeah if if i stayed home and celebrated you know my anniversary for the entire weekend i would feel like i disappointed lou and not and you know she missed this last girl scout thing and if i now that i'm gonna go on this to this horse ranch i'm gonna feel like i'm disappointing wes it's it i'm disappointing somebody either way and i

00:58:44 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 8:

hate that feeling no i completely understand that i think i mean it was an honest mistake and i think that wes understands that too and you guys can celebrate later but i don't think

00:58:58 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 6:

you did anything wrong. Do you think Wes understands

00:59:01 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 4:

it? He does, but that doesn't take away the fact that I know his feelings are really hurt. Yeah.

00:59:07 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, if you want, I'll go to the hotel with Wes.

00:59:13 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I thought you were going to say, I'll go

00:59:14 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 6:

on the Girl Scout trip. No, no, no. That would be weird. That would be weird. Wes and I in a hotel together would not be weird.

00:59:21 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 4:

Let's go, Wes. Honestly, take him golfing that weekend. It'll make everything better.

00:59:24 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 6:

Done. We'll be all good.

Shannon with the dirty and big news this morning on the death of Pope Francis.

01:01:00 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, history's first Latin American pope, known for being humble, for his concern for the poor, marginalized, the LGBTQ community, died earlier this morning. He was 88 years old. I'll be mouspapam.

01:01:13 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 2:

When this soft-spoken man emerged out of the balcony at St. Peter's with a humble bow to the faithful and praying the Our Father, few expected a pope who would so radically transform the face of the papacy and the spirit of Catholics around the world. The first Latin American pope, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, he grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the son of an Italian immigrant. Despite an early setback as a teenager, an infection that claimed part of his lung, this was a young man full of life with a passion for philosophy, wine, and dancing to tango. But ultimately, Bergoglio couldn't resist the call from above, becoming a priest at 32, rising through the church hierarchy while shunning its trappings. As a cardinal, he sold off the church mansion, cooked his own meals, and rode the subway while helping the poor. So it only seemed fitting that the new pope would take his name from St. Francis of Assisi, who dedicated his life to caring for the poor. Catholics now also had their first Jesuit pope, an order of priests devoted to service for the greater glory of God. Gone were the fancy robes and designer shoes. This pope carried his own bags, paid his own bills, and drove a beat-up car. He chose a modest guest house over the lavish papal apartment. And Pope Francis brought change from the start, alienating some Catholics but

01:02:45 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 3:

inspiring more. Before creating the world, God loved. Because God is love. Instead of washing

01:03:02 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 2:

the feet of fellow priests on Holy Thursday in an ancient ritual, Francis chose juvenile prisoners including women and Muslims when ordinary Catholics wrote him letters of despair he telephoned them personally and this Pope was determined to reach out often wading into the crowds without the bulletproof Pope mobile a headache for the Vatican security but a breath of fresh air for

01:03:27 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 1:

the faith who did that report by the way that is Terry Moran from ABC News that It was a great report. Yeah. He also covers the papacy because he's also a big Catholic, too. Okay. Interestingly enough, obviously was loving towards gay marriage, but would never go that one step further, which caused for a lot of the LGBTQ plus community to be very upset with.

01:03:53 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 3:

To say he didn't go far enough.

01:03:55 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 1:

Didn't go far enough, but then also used the word sin, though, as part of the words which a lot of people were really upset with. He said, we we we love all in the community, but we also recognize the sin, which made a lot of people very upset. But interesting. So Francis is gone. Now we have a new election. We're doing a special election on this whole deal. I find this to be such an interesting time, because anytime you look at pomp and circumstances of any kind of either government or religion, which obviously this is kind of a government too right because it's the vatican i just always sit there and i look back and i go the tradition is wonderful but is it outdated you know i don't know what you want to happen well i think that uh you know what let's have like a predecessor in mind right away instead of you know like let's just jump right into it you know should we have a vice pope and then they just i don't know somebody who's a little younger than well they Well, that's the thing. 80.

01:04:54 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 3:

You know, 80 is the maximum age.

01:04:56 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

He was, he came in, what, in the, like, a...

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 3:

decade ago and so he's 88 years old yeah it's been i think it's i think it's been he was close

01:05:05 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 2:

because don't you have to be under 80 to be considered right yes so he was in his 70s i

01:05:09 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 3:

believe when it when it happened how old is trump uh trump is in his uh in his 70s right now right

01:05:15 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 1:

his late 70s isn't he do we have a maximum on the president we have a minimum or age minimum

01:05:21 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 3:

i'm 78 could you imagine though if all of a sudden you had like although i don't are there any younger popes or younger priests these days? I feel like every time I go to church the priests are older and older. I need to go to a Catholic church, bro. See what's going on in there. Lydia will take you. Welcome to come

01:05:37 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 2:

with me anytime. By the way, our president is 78 years old. I would take you, by

01:05:41 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 3:

the way, if you want, on Christmas or Easter or when my sister comes to town and she then

01:05:46 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 1:

makes me go.

01:05:49 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 2:

In Other Dirty Today, Wendy's said it is not apologizing for its tweet about katy perry and her being part of the blue origin space mission if you follow wendy's on social media you already saw this but when the pop crave account posted on x that katy had returned from space the wendy's account tweeted at them can we send her back after receiving some backlash for those comments wendy's tweeted we always bring a little spice to our socials but Wendy's has a ton of respect for Katy Perry and her out-of-this-world talent. But no, I'm sorry, it's there. Kanye West and Bianca Sensori seen together over the weekend several times, including at an Indian restaurant on the Spanish island of Mallorca on Friday night. So I don't know what the deal is, because remember, word was they had split back in February. But on Friday, they arrived in the same car, walked into the restaurant together, were led into a back private room together, left together. So I don't know if they're officially back as a couple or working on reconciling, or we're just having dinner on that occasion as friends. They were together. And lastly, actress, Austin Powers' actress is probably where you best remember her or know her from, I should say. Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus randomly went Instagram official over the weekend. What? Wait. Yeah. It was her? it was her yeah because you probably saw the photo of him like snooching somebody it's what is she thinking the caption happy easter now here's the thing he just finalized his divorce from singer fire rose well i guess that was in august so it's been a minute it's been a minute but still oh shut

01:07:36 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 3:

she can't she can't find anybody better than billy ray cyrus well because remember we heard

01:07:40 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 2:

I heard that audio of him, like, losing his mind kind of made me scared about his temperament and personality. And they are very much together.

01:07:50 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 1:

Ew. Yeah.

01:07:52 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Ew. What's wrong?

01:07:53 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 1:

What's the ew for him? He's awful.

01:07:57 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know how awful he is, but I think he's got a lot of problems in his life. And I think that he's got a lot of problems. He's got a lot of problems.

01:08:05 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 2:

That's a nice way of saying awful. Wasn't she dating Hugh Grant when he got busted with the prostitute? I feel like she picks men who are in their life.

01:08:13 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Maybe she's the problem.

01:08:16 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 2:

No, I like her. Is she awful? Yeah. All right. For all today's dirty, catch up by checking out the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

01:08:56 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Happy Easter.

01:08:58 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 3:

Happy Easter. How great is this? You got yourself a chance to win a brand-new car. What do you want? What Chevy would you want, McKenna?

01:09:08 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 1:

I want to be just like you, Mojo. I want a Tahoe.

01:09:11 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 3:

I love my Tahoe. I love my Tahoe. My Tahoe is dirty today. We drove it to and from going to visit Jacob in Chicago. It's got all the dead bugs all over everywhere. Why is it that that just happens to you? You know, I drive fast here in town, and I don't get as many. You know what? You see how big those bugs are on 94 off of the highway there in Kalamazoo? Have you ever done the drive at all to, like, go to Chicago or go to, like, Pittsburgh or whatever? I just did it. The highway, you get, your car gets so dirty after one of those things. It's like. It was unreal. Yeah. Well, you know what? We're going to get a nice one cleaned up for you. Congratulations. Thank you to Moran Chevrolet. It is the Find the Fob contest. Hang on one second, okay? Thank you. Thank you. Hold on one second. It's Mojo in the morning. My family wants to hear nothing more about me and my injury from last week of falling downstairs.

01:10:07 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 4:

Throw us your butt.

01:10:07 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 3:

It's got to a point now where Luke came with us to go visit his brother for his birthday, which, by the way, happy birthday to Jacob. It's his birthday today.

01:10:17 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 4:

Happy birthday, Jacob.

01:10:18 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Jacob. I love you. Happy birthday. We saw Jacob. We celebrated also Easter. And Luke said to me, he goes, yo, bro, that's old news. That's literally like a quote I think he said to me. He goes, old news, bro. I go, thanks. Thanks, Luke. I appreciate that. You know, that's very nice of you. Bro, seriously? Yeah. So Chelsea had me do something before we left to go. This just shows you. How many people treat their pets better than they treat themselves or they treat other family members? And I want you to call us up if this is the case for you. Now, Chelsea had me take Louie, who is one of our two dogs, our oldest dog. He's, what, I think like 11 or something like that. I don't even know. Had me take him to go get acupuncture and massage the other day.

01:11:16 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 4:

You jealous? This is insane.

01:11:18 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Megan, first off, I was like, what? I got to do what? Like, I thought he was going, you know, to the vet for like a serious, you know, thing. She goes, yeah, you're taking him for his acupuncture. I go, acupuncture?

01:11:28 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 2:

Is he arthritis or what's going on?

01:11:31 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 3:

Louie's always had issues where if you pet him in certain areas, they say that he's got some kind of a, I don't know, like a spine issue or something. And this has been a relieving thing. And instead of giving him pain medication, this, you know, Marissa and everybody over at Union Lake vet have decided that this was the thing that was best for him.

01:11:49 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:11:49 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 3:

Thing that was best for him and for them to put another wing on that goddamn place. I'm sorry. By the way, I shouldn't be saying that. Not on Easter Monday. And I told Colleen that I would not use the Lord's name in vain. I apologize, Colleen. So, all right. So, his gosh darn, you know, veterinary clinic. So, I'm sitting there watching this extremely nice veterinarian. She was a sweet lady. Put needles into his back and doing it. And Louie's just sitting there. And you could tell it was giving him a sense of relief. And she's massaging him, giving him some massage. And the entire time, all I want to do is go, I fell downstairs at a bar in East Lansing. Do you know how bad my back feels? Like, do you know my shoulder? I have, like, torn things in my shoulder and stuff.

01:12:35 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 2:

You could go get acupuncture yourself, you human being. I understand that.

01:12:37 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 3:

I don't have time. I've got to take my dogs to it.

01:12:39 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you don't have time.

01:12:41 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 3:

I have no time to do this stuff, this shenanigans. I've got a house full of dogs I've got to take to appointments. What are you doing tonight? What am I doing tonight? Yeah. Actually, I'm going to doctor's appointments. Believe it or not, I've got to go to an orthopedic doctor appointment.

01:12:57 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

See, you know I'm all for all these funky things. If it keeps my dog alive and happy and pain-free any longer, I take the clothes off my body and I'll sell them to pay for acupuncture. I've never heard of doggy massage, but that sounds lovely.

01:13:13 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 4:

Can dogs, like, can you rub CBD oil on dogs? You can give them teachers.

01:13:18 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 3:

I think so, yeah. Why don't you do that? Well, that's not what my wife wants to do. It was 420, bro.

01:13:23 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 4:

Might as well. I don't hate it. When you feed a chore, she goes, ah.

01:13:30 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 3:

Kev, let me tell you something about Louie. Louie eats real dog food, okay? Like, when I say real dog, real food food. Like, they pre-make it, and they put it in these little packages, and it's got, like, broccoli and whatever, and I'm eating, like, Jersey Mike's. You know what I mean? Shut up, Jersey Mike's. You know, processed ham. And this dog's eating, like, real chicken and stuff like that. And is getting acupuncture and has got, you know, the medicine bills for this dog. Who knows? Insane. It's craziness. Acupuncture? That seems a lot, bro. I know. Like, it's a dog. I'm at a point right now where.

01:14:07 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Part of your family.

01:14:08 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 3:

Where I'm like. You don't have a dog. I don't live like that.

01:14:11 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 2:

I used to have dogs when I grow up. And I'm not your dog. That's your parents' dog. I see how passionate you are about this. You're about to bite me. Down, Shannon. Down. that was a drop that was actually shannon that was not a drop dude i had a vet one time sit me

01:14:28 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 4:

down in a room before they did the treatment to go over the cost of it i was like you will do anything for this dog to live people kill for their dogs i would hold on chanel we're talking

01:14:37 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 3:

about the bougie dogs here right now uh you got some bougie dogs in your house huh yes my chihuahua

01:14:44 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 1:

mixed smiley she just turned 16 and her hips are getting a little um you know a little little rough because she's getting older so she does a laser therapy like the red light laser therapy oh my god we had x-rays done she goes to the chiropractor She gets, like, her farmer's dog dog food. She gets a daily liquid pain injection. She gets a monthly pain injection for arthritis. And then I crush up prescription-strength vitamins in her farmer's dog dog food.

01:15:15 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 5:

And what do you eat, by the way, while your dog's, you know, costing you all this money? What are you eating? What's your, you know, thing of a meal?

01:15:22 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's. McDonald's. Spam.

01:15:24 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you that if Chelsea is listening to this right now, you know she's going to now automatically say that my dog needs red light therapy because she's obsessed with red light therapy.

01:15:35 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 1:

You know what? It's made a huge difference. And my thing is, like, this dog got me through some of the hardest moments in my life. I'm not going to give up on her because she got old. Right. So she does sleep. She sleeps in a bassinet now next to her bed because she was having some accidents. And I, you know, so I didn't want her to, like, not feel like she could still sleep with us, and she loves it.

01:15:58 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 3:

And let me tell you, that dog's going to live to be 36. That dog's going to outlive me. I just know it.

01:16:03 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 5:

That dog's going to outlive Janelle. What's up, Sean? It's Mojo in the morning. We're talking about the bougie dogs, the bougie pets. Do people do this with their cats?

01:16:14 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, I don't know about cats, but my dog is a Shizu, 14 years old. Wait, what? Wait, hey, hold on.

01:16:21 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 5:

Wait, wait, wait, stop. Try that again. What kind of dog is it? A Shizu. A Shizu.

01:16:28 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 6:

Like a Kizu.

01:16:31 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 5:

Okay, your dog is a Shizu.

01:16:33 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 6:

I don't want to say the other word. Okay, it's a Shizu. All right, go ahead. Yes, there you go. And by the way, Shannon, sick heaven. Sick? He's sick.

01:16:43 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 3:

He says sick me. You got your back. You got your back.

01:16:46 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 6:

I like showing. I like showing. Don't bite him. I put my finger in her butthole. My wife just caught me yesterday.

01:16:55 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 5:

Your wife just called you yesterday, and what did she say?

01:16:59 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 6:

Basically, loving on my dog, because he's old, don't know how much time he's got. Walked in the room, she goes, you pay more attention to that damn dog than you do me.

01:17:08 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 5:

You know what? I'm telling you, you're going to be alone sleeping with that dog.

01:17:13 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 6:

Actually, I work 30 shifts, so that dog sleeps with me while I'm in my bed while the wife's at work.

01:17:18 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 5:

Sean, I know it's man's best friend, but man needs women. Doggy stuff. Man needs women in your life. You don't need that.

01:17:25 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 6:

Well, as soon as my wife starts following around like the dog does.

01:17:30 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 5:

That is kind of true. That is interesting. It's like the dogs actually greet me at the door. I should think about it. Like, if I come home, you know, my kids, my wife, you know, they're, oh, you're home? No, the dogs actually were waiting for me at the door. What's going on, Tiffany? How you doing?

01:17:47 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So we have a dog named Jack. He's half Dalmatian, half Jack Russell. And my husband treats him better than he treats our kids. He tucks him in with a pillow at night and blanket and kisses him on his forehead.

01:18:00 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 3:

You know what made me mad about the guys being like, the dog greets me at the door. I'm like, I bet you feed the dog. When was the last time you cooked dinner for your family? Of course the dog greets you at the door. I'll be treating your dogs rather than the people. It's wild. There needs to be an even play. I need to meet Shannon Cab in the middle. We need to treat family well and our dogs, okay?

01:18:20 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 5:

Tiffany, let me ask you this question. With you complaining about the fact that your husband tucks in your dog at night and kisses your dog and all the rest of that stuff, when is the last time that you jumped on the couch and cuddled next to your husband without him asking you to?

01:18:32 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what he says. He says he's man's best friend, and he tells me all the time he's man's best friend, and he just greets him so nicely at home.

01:18:39 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 3:

When was the last time your husband just showed up with a cupcake and said, want a treat?

01:18:44 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 5:

Never.

01:18:45 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

01:18:45 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 5:

Does your husband keep peanut butter? No, stop. All right, Kevin.

01:18:50 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 3:

You are done with this conversation. Kevin, put him in the crate.

01:18:53 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 5:

Don't put him in the crate. We don't need him around here right now. You're a bad doggy. Hi, Adam. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:19:05 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I am raising a squirrel that I, unfortunately, my girlfriend hates. I love her a little bit more than the girlfriend.

01:19:15 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 5:

Are you kidding when you're saying this? You actually have a pet squirrel?

01:19:19 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So for a year, I've raised a squirrel. I'm actually going to college to be a rehabber for it. I need a license.

01:19:26 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 3:

So you've got an illegal squirrel.

01:19:28 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait, is that a thing that you can do? You can actually raise squirrels, like, from the wild?

01:19:34 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 4:

No, you're not allowed to.

01:19:37 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 3:

Y'all are missing the fact that he said he loves the squirrel a little bit more than his girlfriend.

01:19:42 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:19:42 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 3:

I mean, where did you find his squirrel?

01:19:45 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

outdoors last year last year was april 8th and there was eclipse and as i was driving my kids home we thought we ran over a kitten and it was a baby squirrel in the middle of the road oh and

01:19:56 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

you felt horrible about it so you nursed it to health

01:20:00 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 2:

I nursed it back to life. After my separation, I found this squirrel. There you go. Jeez. And, yeah, her name's Sammy, and she'll live 20 years. I build her a giant cage, and I feed her nuts and everything every day.

01:20:14 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 1:

After the separation. What a guy. Well, you know what? Sometimes separations are difficult, and it's wonderful that you're a kind person, that you're doing this.

01:20:23 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 5:

Do you remember Chimp Crazy or whatever that show called? Oh, yes. I feel like we're going to have squirrel crazy next. And it's just going to be a bunch of people like, this is my squirrel collection. Keep them in the basement. Don't tell the FBI.

01:20:36 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 1:

Here, by the way, is proof that people treat their animals better than themselves. Summer, go ahead. Tell everybody your story.

01:20:44 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 4:

So I, for the longest time, have paid for pet insurance or like health insurance for my cat. And I still don't have health insurance.

01:20:53 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that unreal? So your cat has health insurance, but Summer doesn't have health insurance.

01:21:00 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, full coverage.

01:21:02 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Unreal.

01:21:03 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 5:

To be fair, the price difference is crazy between human and pet insurance.

01:21:06 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 1:

Somebody told me, though, that pet insurance does nothing, though. Is it good? Does it work?

01:21:13 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Really? I mean, he broke a leg, and it was fully covered.

01:21:17 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

That's wild. You worried about the wrong yell. By the way, why did Obama never do Obamacare for animals? We need them back. Bring them back. We got to have that. We need health insurance for our animals, too.

01:21:31 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 2:

01:25:00 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 2:

uh lydia introduced her dad to that guy in phoenix let's remember said something to her about uh his nuts or what kind of nuts he would she want um she's going to talk about that megan with how to get things for free and we've got a chance for you to win money want to win some cash we're going to be doing it twice this morning pay your bills right here on the mojo in the morning show channel 955 104.5 snx and 92.5 kiss fm all right we uh called for a family meeting and uh in my house whenever we say family meeting everybody's got to come down they've got to put down their devices so i'm asking everybody devices closed close them up everybody like move your things boom boom boom okay move them and whatever um and uh everybody also in our family meetings that we have uh nothing is to be at all uh taken in a personal way during this family meeting and if anybody needs tissues we've got tissues if you know anybody uh would like to leave for a moment you can leave for a moment but you got to come back so that's kind of the rules in our house so this radio people take laps often uh we've had it before where we've had family meetings where my kids are like, I need a break for a second. I want to go outside. And honestly, it's sometimes it's good. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So nothing's, you know, uh, it's said that ever can never be taken back. So, um, just, uh, not that long ago, um, I had one of the members of the show come to me and come to Tony and tell me something that kind of floored me. And when they told me this, um i was i was shocked but not surprised if that makes it sound weird i knew that something was kind of coming up and something was brewing but i didn't think that it was going to get to the level that it got to a member of the mojo in the morning show came to me and said that they wanted to resign from the show um and their hopes were that they were going to uh leave the show but also wanted to leave radio and we're here to announce that this morning on the show um Megan Mick has turned in a letter of resignation I actually did officially finally read it by the way it feels so formal doesn't it I read it was very formal and honestly I know that that's kind of like the the thing which is funny because I don't think I've ever had a resume nor have I ever resigned from the job without going hey by the way I'm leaving for another job so neither

01:27:47 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 1:

of I, I had to Google how to write a letter of resignation. Wait, did AI write that? AI might have helped. Might have. Might have helped. Might have. But in true fashion, if you read it, I did get the date wrong on it. Oh, you did? I did. So if you look at the day and like the day of the week and the date, they don't match on a calendar.

01:28:09 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 2:

But we all know. Now y'all joking too much. Let's get into it. Well, Megan came to Tony and I and said that she wanted to resign. And Megan, I'm going to let you just kind of take it from there and we're obviously going to uh um have questions for you for sure

01:28:23 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

um and i first things first my goal in my career and my life was to get here and i am so grateful so grateful for the experience i've had getting to be here and work with you guys and this is truly the best of the best hands down um a big part of the reason why i'm leaving the industry altogether is because nothing's going to get better than this. I am fully aware of that and super grateful for this experience. I, I've said this to you. I said this to all of us, um, because shocking, we've, we as a family, um, have dabbled in this topic just a little bit. And, um, this, this is the peak, like getting to this show to work with you, Mojo, and to the entire team here has truly been the greatest opportunity of my life. And I'm very, very grateful for that. I am just wanting to step away from the industry just in general. And I've been doing this for so long. I grew up, especially with the people who listen on 92.5 Kiss FM in Toledo. I started on that radio station when I was 18 years old. Yeah, you heard me start as an idiot and not really grow or learn at all I'm ending as an idiot as well but it's been fun and I just need a little bit more privacy in my life and I'm chasing after some different dreams I think a lot of times um I talked with my therapist like I had a life to-do list right and like I hit those to-dos and now I'm ready to hit the next set of to-dos and

01:30:00 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 4:

And I'm really, really grateful to work with you. I love you guys so much. I really don't want you to think that it's like ill will or I had this terrible experience that is not the case at all. I'm just, I'm ready for some new challenges.

01:30:16 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 1:

When Megan said those exact words to Tony and I, left the room and I think I sent you a text and told you I love you.

01:30:27 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 4:

You did, right away.

01:30:28 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 1:

And I processed it and then called you later that evening.

01:30:34 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 4:

You did.

01:30:35 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 1:

And I tried to talk her out of it. I tried to basically say to her that, you know, hey, okay, why don't you take some time to think about this? And you had kind of told me some things that, and I, by the way, we appreciate everything you say about this is the pinnacle and stuff. I said this to all of you guys. I don't think this is the pinnacle. I really don't. I think every day of your life, you're in a pinnacle and every day you're going to get better. And nor where I don't think that you need radio or I need radio or any of us need this, this career, we could do anything. And we, I think would flourish. I think we're all quality people. You know, those people though, that are so good at it. And you're like, God, you were, you were meant to be in this position. and where i'm sad to see that you are doing this i am praying that you rethink this and rethought you know this whole thing before we even made this announcement and you still could rethink it megan for those that don't know and i don't know how much i'm allowed to share but i'm not your boss tony is and colleen is megan's under a contract and she is under contract for another year and a half or something like that and the company um you know tony had to go to the company and basically say hey we need to think about this and unwind it and their first thoughts as a company is they got to protect them and their company and they said well what does mojo think and when they called me to ask me and they said what do you think and i said i think that there's nothing i can do to keep her her and there's nothing that i would want to do to keep somebody that didn't want to be here and i want you to do what is going to make you happy but i also

01:32:24 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 3:

want you to be happy yeah so yeah so when did you lose your joy in radio because you said you've been in this thing for 14 years like when did it become a point where it wasn't either fun for you or you didn't feel like, or you feel like you reached a cap?

01:32:41 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I think I lost my joy. I think I just have new passions that I want to explore. You know what I mean? Like you can be, like you can say, I did what I wanted to do. What's next?

01:32:55 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 3:

So you feel like you did what you wanted to do.

01:32:57 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 4:

For sure.

01:32:58 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 1:

What, and I want to get into the what's next for you in a second, but did did it play a part what social media has kind of done the things oh yeah yeah that's where

01:33:12 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 4:

i kind of i joke and i'm saying i'm i'm looking for more privacy i've been so grateful to share my experiences with people i want to make that very clear there i don't regret my experiences in choosing this career like i'm super grateful that really our listeners have normalized so much stuff that's gone on in my life like anytime there's been a big life event that I'm not really sure about like it's really nice to come here and hear perspective from people who care about us like that is the best thing you could ask for um but I think sometimes there is a huge lack of privacy in our lives with this job and I am now 32 and I've been doing this since I was 18 like i would just like a little bit more to be left to me you know what i mean did it reach just a

01:34:05 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 3:

boiling point or did like was there i don't know something that happened or like when did it start

01:34:11 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 4:

becoming too much for you this social what 14 years ago uh i think it's always been very difficult and i think there just becomes a point in your life where you're like oh this this doesn't satisfy me anymore you know what i mean like it it costs too much on me that i i'm like i

01:34:35 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 2:

have you ever had that moment where you're like i'm not even going to think of what i'm going to say when this happens because it's probably not going to happen and now that it's actually happening i'm like at an absolute freaking loss for words um that is what makes this better for me and I hope for people listening who you have impacted so much and love you so much is that selfishly when I found out about this I was like well no like i you know i she's not going anywhere i love you to absolute pieces but at the same time you have to take a step back and go but this is what she wants to do this is going to make her happier this is the next step you know to to her living her life um and that's the only think that i'm like okay even though i want to trap you in here um i know that there there is

01:35:33 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 3:

more that you want to do yeah so and i'm not like yeah i've fully appreciated all of our experiences here and all of the amazing opportunities we have had to do some really cool things um listen I love you Toledo but I'm gonna get nerdy here for a second just for mojo's sake like in radio there are different market sizes right and like Toledo is a smaller market and there's not as many opportunities there and I love that city don't get me wrong but like I think Jingle Ball is a great example Jingle Ball doesn't go to every city in the country it goes to a few and like being able to be backstage and and be at that stuff or go to the I Heart Radio Music Festival like I understand not having those experiences again is going to be really tough not being able to like do stuff with you guys because i love you so much and like have those really fun experiences is going to be incredibly difficult but i'm so grateful that we had them all oh my god i had an absolute blast i want to make that so freaking clear i had a blast doing this i'm just ready for

01:36:37 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 2:

the next thing was there i don't have my devices open because dad over here made us um close them all but i'm sure a question that people are wondering is was there like when did you feel like okay this like I know that this is this is it for me like that you were going to make this decision was it recently was it a long time ago and you were just kind of mulling it over in your head was it something specific or was it what was it I think it happened a long time ago but

01:37:05 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 3:

because this job is so great and this career is so great it's hard to go I'm done you know what I Like, it took a long time to get here. I think that I knew this train was coming a long time ago, but it probably pulled up to the station relatively recently. But, like, I knew this train was coming. I had already seen the arrival times on the board. You know what I'm saying? Like, does that make any sense? Yeah, you're painting the picture. It's radio is the theater of the minds, so I'm trying to paint that. And this is your swan song. Exactly. Oh, God, what a terrible swan song. This is the Amelia Perez swan song, just off key and written by AI. Anyways, I it's a while, a while, but it's hard to say goodbye. And I knew when I was done here, I was done with the career. I've said Mojo, I've said this to you for like seven years. I was like, I'm not going to work with anybody else if it's not with you. And I've always truly meant that. Like, I got here and I knew that, like, once it was this, it was never going to be anything else again. And so it was hard to say. You justify it a lot. You're like, but there's cool things. But there's this. But we have so much fun. But we get to do this. But we get to. So you justify a lot for a long time.

01:38:23 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 1:

You know? How, when I think of this, how hard was moving from your home?

01:38:29 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

I love living here. This was the best. I would have been so. sorry I gotta cough I'm still a little bit sick um I have loved living in the city are you freaking kidding me some of the joys is my dad was born and raised in the city of Detroit and the first year that I got to host Thanksgiving and we got to go to the parade and he hadn't been there since he was a kid and I got to provide that experience with my dad and his family for the first time of like reliving his childhood was like holy crap this is the coolest thing for me like I got to experience the place my dad loves in my own unique way and we we bonded in a way that was so fun to like drive around and go to his favorite places as a kid and like I had heard the stories but then like walking around and experiencing it amazing um having so many more opportunities to do things i wouldn't have never done before i never would have driven up for the draft that was incredibly cool to have that literally be in my front yard or uh formula one racings i never would have driven up here and experienced that and like getting to do those things and getting those experiences i never would have explored on my own but you did phenomenal

01:39:43 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

but in all transparency you did go back to toledo sometimes daily still oh yeah you were going back there to see doctors and to go to appointments for you know things i wondered sometimes how much of it because i will say this to you your home is always

01:40:00 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 4:

your home and other places can become your home they can become your adoptive homes but there's nothing like your home and I wondered sometimes how much you know you I will never forget moving across the country for radio and how lonely it was for me yeah and it wasn't uh it wasn't until I met Chelsea that it actually started feeling like there was something there but did you ever

01:40:22 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 2:

have those moments oh absolutely I also moved in at the tail end of COVID so like there was my downtown was relatively empty like a lot of people had moved home during covid and or out to the burbs or whatever it has since changed which is great but like i will say it's very difficult living in the city and not knowing many people i'm so grateful we can fight about this go ahead send the texts whatever toledo is a suburb of detroit it is 45 minutes from downtown detroit to downtown Toledo but it's still like it is yeah but it's it's pretty easy to get home it's easy to see my friends proximity wise yeah I think part of it was when I had those hard days and I have an established friend group it's easy to just go home and see them and to try to go out and meet

01:41:11 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

new people when you're already feeling lonely and since you're not going to be like driving to the station every day are you are you moving back home to Toledo or are you staying here you haven't

01:41:22 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 2:

decided yet i'm moving back yeah my dog gone it's to be fair i think even if i would have stayed on the show i would have been moving back is very expensive to live a downtown i love it it is great it has been the experience of a lifetime but you also miss it very expensive and honestly i will

01:41:42 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 4:

say this financially the expense is one thing but honestly emotionally the expense is harder i think It's both. But I want to ask you, because there are moments I was on the phone with you when it was just you and I, and you got emotional.

01:41:55 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

01:41:55 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 4:

And I'd love to know where the emotion comes into play, because I heard it a couple of times at moments when you and I would talk, and obviously not that I think that you need to be emotional for the listeners, but what brings the emotion out of this move?

01:42:13 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 2:

um i think disappointing you has been a big part of it i you're not you're definitely not i know

01:42:20 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 4:

your dad and i have the same exact thoughts on this i'm just honestly wanting to make sure you're a hundred percent positive that this is what you need to do

01:42:28 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 2:

for sure and i think um i have a really hard time putting myself as a priority and i've been working very hard on that And I think a lot of times I stay in situations that I don't want to be in, but maybe aren't the best for me because I don't want to let other people down. And I think telling you that everything's going to be fine, right? Like everything's going to move on. It's going to become normal one day. Like changes happen in the world. Truly, I'm very happy right now. like so incredibly happy um even though it kind of sounded a little shaky there I mean it um but I think telling you this was terrifying because it felt like I was I always say I feel like I disappoint people and that I'm a burden and I felt making this decision qualified me as both

01:43:32 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 4:

of those things to the show and that was hard well but I'm I'm proud of you I'm proud of you for doing something for yourself and as a as a dad naturally I have fear for my kids yeah I don't want ever want my kids to be hurt yeah you have always come across to me as like a little sister to me yeah and I want you you know to be good um I know and for those that are just tuning in right Now Megan has, you know, just told us and you can rewind this all on podcast and listen to it. But she told us that she's wanting to leave the show and she wants to get out of radio. Your things that you want to get out of radio to do are honestly, I think, wonderful. I mean, it's not that you're going to run, you know, you're not going to get rich, but you're going to. Honestly, it's going to you're going to be fulfilled. Rich and spearing. I am not going to be rich.

01:44:25 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to go to a desk job.

01:44:29 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Bro, you're going to hate it, bro. I'm telling you. A weekend, you're going to start seeing what it's like, hear them weak-ass heels clicking around. It's going to be weak in there.

01:44:37 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 2:

But you guys, I'm not going to get up at 3.30 in the morning.

01:44:40 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to take that. Let me ask you this, though, because you've been throwing that daddy word around. What did Scott say about this? He's been an extreme fixture on this show. I want to call him right now so he can talk some sense into you. What has he been telling you?

01:44:50 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

He is the most supportive man in the entire world. I am so incredibly grateful to him.

01:45:00 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 3:

He is such a level-headed person. It's disgusting. I don't know how I came from him because I'm so not level-headed, and he is. I will say in all of this, when I say it's been a long process, it's been a long process. It's not a hastily me decision. We have talked at length about this. And I will say my dad has always been the person to be like, and he's right. I want to make this very clear. There will never be a job that I have in the future that has days as good as the days that we have here. We're just too lucky. There's too many cool things going on. There's too many cool opportunities. So we will never have that. And he'll do the constant, like, are you sure? Remember this? Are you sure to let go of this? Are you sure you're willing to part with this? But once it was made, he's fully, I mean, he's the best. He's got my back.

01:45:50 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Did you know at the old studio, like, before we moved? No. So the train doesn't come in.

01:45:55 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I don't know. There's a lot of things that have been going on for a long time.

01:46:01 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 1:

You knew the train was coming for a while. I just wanted to kind of understand in my mind how long it was. Time frame.

01:46:07 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 3:

But I mean.

01:46:10 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 2:

We're going to continue. Megan's going to be with us for a couple of weeks. We're going to have a lot of laughs. We're going to have a lot of tears. And we're going to have a lot of time for listeners to talk, and I want to give them some time to talk. but also i want you to know that you uh will always have a home here love you um and i think that just like when you have you said something that was really uh to me grabbed me because it's first time that i heard you say you've always done things for everybody else you haven't done

01:46:47 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 6:

for yourself that was the most important piece of what you said and i think that one of the things

01:46:51 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 2:

that stood out with that is you've had a transformational last you know yeah few years but also less you know more than a decade and you know plus in radio um i hope that every one of those things you realize that you should have been doing for yourself yeah because you didn't move to detroit you didn't lose uh weight you didn't take a job you know uh in radio you didn't do any of that stuff for your dad you didn't do it for your brother you didn't do it for your friend Tom Carballo aka Mojo you did it for you I did and I want you to look back on that and understand that even though you maybe thought of doing it but you you did it for yourself

01:47:33 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

absolutely absolutely like making these decisions have taught me so much about myself what I value and what I prioritize and I wouldn't it's funny I would not have gotten here without the opportunity But I mean that in the most positive way. Like, I would not have gotten to the place where I can make decisions that I stand by and I'm very proud of if it wasn't for you giving me the opportunity to come out here. So thank you.

01:47:57 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 2:

But you know what? I had the opportunity to work with you as much as you feel like you had an opportunity. And I'm glad that I have.

01:48:05 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 6:

And I didn't even know if I liked you at first. I know. Isn't that crazy?

01:48:08 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 3:

And I think Mojo learned patience.

01:48:12 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I learned patience with myself a lot of times, too. Katie, you heard the news that Megan has decided to get out of radio. What are your thoughts?

01:48:23 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 5:

I did. I'm sad. I mean, I'm glad that you're doing something for yourself. And you were one of the people I was thinking about first thing this morning during Shannon's first Dirty this morning because I was listening to all the, okay, everybody did Easter and, you know, sad about the Pope and stuff like that. And as a formerly religious person, I was thinking, you know, the only person on the show that might be interested in how my family celebrates Easter is Megan because, um, we celebrate zombie Jesus day and we watch zombie movies all day. And I'm like, Megan would think that was funny. Everybody else is going to tell me I'm going to hell.

01:48:59 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 6:

I'll meet you at the gates, babe. It'll be a party. You're going to hell with Megan. Yeah. I know. I'm going to know everybody there.

01:49:06 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's cool. I'm going to know everybody there. It's my new line. Yeah. All my friends will be there. I wish you the best of luck, Megan, and I'm probably going to call every day until you're done. I call every day anyway.

01:49:23 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

We love you, Katie.

01:49:25 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 5:

And you'll keep calling afterwards.

01:49:27 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that's what we hope. We hope that, and if not, then enjoy hell. Hey, Leanne, what's up? What's going on, Leanne?

01:49:37 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I was just calling because when I first, As soon as you started talking about Megan, I just burst into tears. Megan has been a breath of fresh air. I've been listening to the original three since the beginning, whether through all of the changes, sometimes sad, sometimes happy, sometimes mad. This one is just devastating.

01:50:00 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 2:

stop no i think you're an amazing human being i hope wherever your life goes it's perfect for you but i'm gonna tell you i'm gonna come down to toledo and i'll stalk you

01:50:12 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

until i get to meet you let me tell you let me tell you i'm gonna be very close living wise to you you see me you're gonna find me at frickers all right you're gonna see me there well and the

01:50:24 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 1:

other thing too is and she's going to tell us in coming you know days uh or week kind of some of the stuff that she's going to be doing and she's going to need your help to do it so she really wants to do some things to change the world and i think that's important i think that's important that all those that are loving on megan right now you understand that she's going to still need your help no matter what she does whether it's in radio or out of radio zach what's up hey good

01:50:54 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 2:

morning hi uh certainly know how to make a grown man cry this morning my goodness no i uh i met you megan like three years ago uh on the pedal bar downtown solito um yeah that was good just after our 30th birthday so we had a good time and after that time i uh i quit drinking like two months later i'm not almost three years sober congratulations thank you um what did

01:51:23 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 4:

megan do to you on the pedal pub that made you uh want to quit drinking was it the twerking um

01:51:28 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 2:

yeah you know you know it too well and i i also uh had a weight weight problem too so this really hits home too like with everything you've gone through over the years or the last couple years too. I've lost 100 pounds.

01:51:43 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome, buddy. Yeah, that's incredible.

01:51:48 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 2:

Wish you the best, Megan. You're the awesome sweetest. Loves you. Everybody loves you. You're going to do great things. You take it easy, alright?

01:51:58 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 5:

For sure, and I'll see you in those mean streets of the 419.

01:52:03 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 1:

Helena, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:52:06 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I just wanted to say, I remember when Megan started, and she went through so many similar things that I did and she like made me feel heard and I just want to say thank you for that and I really wish you all the best Stop! I love you Oh my god, I love you

01:52:25 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 5:

Love you too But be honest, I'm just as dumb now as I was when I started, right?

01:52:29 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 3:

I mean, if you're dumb, I'm dumb

01:52:32 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 1:

Did you know Megan from starting when she was 18 or starting on the radio show here in Detroit in Grand Rapids?

01:52:38 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

She was starring on the radio show here in Detroit from Shannon and Kevin Smith.

01:52:42 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 1:

Because it wasn't easy for her, too. No. Shannon went on maternity leave. People thought that she was replacing Shannon, so people thought that that was a thing, and nobody likes that. Changes on radio shows. Let me just say this to you. Wild. 25 years. Do you know how many people have left this radio show, either by their own accord or by the company's accord? Yeah. 11. There's been 11 people that have left this radio show, going through the rosters of people. Megan will be the 12th and every time that we've had somebody leave the show I've never I will never listen again has come out of the words of people's mouths and then a new person has come in and has taken on the role of taking somebody's heart and one of the things that I loved about Megan and I had to talk to her numerous times about this was Megan if they hate you they love you. At least they're feeling something about you. Megan, I have never worked with anybody that, and she hated when I said this word, it's the P word, not the one you're thinking, Kev. I said, I've never heard, I said to Megan, I go, it's good to be polarizing. Yeah. And I said to her, I go, you are going to have people that will hate you and they will write the meanest things about you. And you have got to skip over those comments because where there are those that do that, there's Helena and there's Zach and there's, what was the lady's name, the first one I picked up? I can't remember her name. Marcy. I know, I know. I just had her a couple minutes ago. There are those that are crying right now. And you know what, Megan? This is the beauty of you. You care too much. You care what other people think too much.

01:54:23 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 4:

No, but people aren't going to believe you because everybody around here thinks I don't care about anything.

01:54:27 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 1:

No, you know what? It's bull spit.

01:54:30 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 4:

Don't tell people my secret.

01:54:32 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 1:

It's bull spit. You care too much.

01:54:34 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:54:35 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 1:

You have been, you know, I prayed for you on my way in today.

01:54:40 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 5:

Stop.

01:54:41 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 1:

And literally, I'm going to tell you why I prayed for you. I prayed for you not because of this. I prayed for you because of the past. And I will say this to you. this is one of those moments in your life that I'm very, very proud of you i think you're incredibly crazy doing this but i'm proud of you because honestly there's a lot of people that don't have guts to do something like this and you have you have not had the easiest grow up life but you've also been blessed in more ways than you probably even realize and i hope that that's something that you realize oh i know you got a lot of people that

01:55:21 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 4:

care about you and love you yeah i do i'm so lucky so for sure bro i'm so lucky and i hate this dog

01:55:29 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 2:

But if it's for you and you decided you're going to do it, you know, nothing but love, man.

01:55:35 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I want you to know these next couple of weeks that you're here and the last appearance that she makes, which will be out when we give away the car. I want people that are all the people that say that they love Megan. I want you to come out and I want you to give her the most uncomfortable hugs you've ever given. I want I want Megan to go.

01:55:59 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 3:

I will never, ever do this. I think I'm going to be sick that day all of a sudden.

01:56:05 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I love you, but we love you.

01:56:07 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 3:

I love you so much. Truly, I want that to be the biggest message, okay? If you've sat around and you've heard this, please know that I love you guys. This was not easy by any means, and I truly, truly love you. I do think we're a family. I don't think this is the end of our road together. It is on the air, but not in life. And I just, I do truly love you guys so freaking much.

01:56:35 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Not enough. Not enough. She doesn't love us enough. Not enough to stay. Not enough to stay.

01:56:38 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 3:

That is right.

01:56:40 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 6:

Honest to God, in our meeting before the show, we were like, okay, you have two and a half hours. You can still change your mind and back out.

01:56:48 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm saving all my words to your last day. Yeah. Nope. That was as close as you were going to get. You almost cried.

01:56:54 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 4:

I almost cried. I almost cried. You've been a lot throughout this moment. I was. They didn't fall.

01:56:59 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 7:

Megan, she's the best person ever. She's the greatest radio talent of all time. If there were a Mount Rushmore of radio, Megan would be on it. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's the one nice one.

01:57:12 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 3:

Play the 30 other ones.

01:57:15 - 01:57:21 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to run late with the dirty because I'm going to do a second date update. I want to get to this. No, we're going to do all of it. I'm sorry.

01:57:21 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 3:

I thought that was a pretty good dirty if I do say so myself.

01:57:23 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 1:

We're just going to blame Megan. And we're going to say it's all Megan that's caused us to be late. So, all right.

01:57:28 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 7:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:57:31 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 1:

All right, why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? Bree wants to know. So, Bree, what did you guys do on your date?

01:57:39 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Yeah. We got drinks and, like, went to a bar.

01:57:44 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So, you guys just hung out and drank and had some fun. Good conversation. You like him? He's cute?

01:57:51 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I like him. He's cute. He's really fun.

01:57:54 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 1:

totally. All right. Um, I always want to ask like questions like, what did you guys talk about? But I always feel like I don't need to, cause it will come up whenever we figure out why he's not calling you back. Um, how did you guys end the date? Did you end the

01:58:09 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 5:

date at the bar? Well, no, we, um, we like decided we wanted to get a hotel. So we got

01:58:17 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 1:

So your date, when I asked you what your date was, hey, we went to a bar, and then we got in a hotel. Did you guys just got a hotel to spend the night because, what, you drank too much, or you guys wanted to spend the night with each other?

01:58:36 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we wanted to spend the night with each other. And, you know, after he dropped me off from the hotel, like, the next day, I haven't heard from him, and, like, he won't answer my text, so I don't know what to do.

01:58:47 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 1:

Whose idea was it to get a hotel?

01:58:51 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 5:

It was mutual.

01:58:54 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:58:55 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 5:

Both of us.

01:58:55 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 1:

All right. So it wasn't like he came up with this. Hey, what do you think about us getting a room? You know, and we're going to do it.

01:59:02 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 6:

That's a very big move. And now you're not hearing from him. You know, like, I don't know.

01:59:11 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:59:11 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 2:

Is it a big move?

01:59:12 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 1:

I mean, listen.

01:59:13 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 6:

To decide together to get a hotel room. To have sex together?

01:59:16 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 1:

Is that a big move? But to go get a hotel room is interesting. Like the idea, I mean, usually you go back to somebody's house, but maybe the homes weren't convenient and a hotel was more convenient. We're going to find out what's going on. His name is Felix.

01:59:30 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:59:32 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 1:

Felix, will you say hello to Bree? Hello.

01:59:39 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:59:40 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 1:

So. Hey. Felix, you heard what Brie told us, and obviously we were a little shocked by the whole idea that you guys got a room together. How did you like the date? How was the date for you?

01:59:56 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 5:

She was pretty.

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 4:

pretty good the the hotel hang was good hey by the way everybody's texting in right now

02:00:07 - 02:00:14 | Speaker 3:

including crazy ricky who's saying felix is married oh fix it felix

02:00:14 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 4:

no i i'm not married but i i get the way it's been laid out i could totally see why anyone

02:00:23 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 3:

would think that oh absolutely i mean the idea that you guys hung out with each other and then you decided to do a hotel room instead of taking her back to your place or going to her place makes it seem obviously really sketchy. Why are you not calling her back? What's going on?

02:00:40 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 4:

So I told my friends about what, how the night went and they went, oh, that's so cool. Are you ready to be a dad? And I was like, what do you mean? And they were like, she has a young boy. How do they know?

02:01:04 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 3:

First off, do you have a son, Bree?

02:01:09 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 7:

I do, but I didn't tell him that. I don't know how he knew that already.

02:01:15 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how did your friends know this, Felix?

02:01:18 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 4:

um they they know each other or their their facebook friends or instagram friends or

02:01:25 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 3:

something so you friends of yours know brie and brie has a kid together and you were very much

02:01:31 - 02:01:46 | Speaker 4:

unaware of that yeah yeah this yeah this was not a thing i was um i wasn't i was looking for a person to hang out with have a little bit of fun but i wasn't always looking to raise a trip

02:01:46 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 3:

help i escalate i this is interesting because where i would have thought like the listeners that there was something shady to felix i don't necessarily think what brie did was shady although i do find it interesting when people who have kids and we've had this recently too we've talked about this so many times where people will not bring up the fact that they're parents and i don't understand how you think that that's not going to come up some way to go to the second date but also

02:02:15 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 1:

it can be a very big deal breaker for somebody who is not interested in dating somebody with kids and also those kids like your priority i i just feel like you in dating and being a mom you need to make sure that you are dating somebody who is ready to take on that respect that would be

02:02:33 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 3:

my very first thing she's not out here dating to find a father for her child she's looking for a

02:02:39 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 6:

zaddy for the night thank you well listen i i understand all of that but also this was like the first date and like i was gonna tell him but like not the rest i'm gonna let him get

02:02:53 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 2:

to know me first but there are some things that are big like major deal breakers and kids is one of them am i not allowed a fun night i mean no no no you're allowed a fun night but you called You're thus asking why he didn't get back to you. You wanted more than a fun night. You wanted to continue this relationship.

02:03:13 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 6:

It's true. It's true.

02:03:16 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 3:

You confused. Can I ask the question, Brie, when the idea of the hotel came up, whose idea was it, yours or Felix's idea?

02:03:30 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 7:

It was both of our ideas.

02:03:32 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 3:

But who more? Like, did you, you could have said, hey, why don't you come back to my place? I'm wondering if you didn't go back because you had your son there.

02:03:42 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 6:

I mean, yes, my kid was there with a babysitter. Like.

02:03:46 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Which, honestly, I give you props of doing that. But that, it's interesting because I, as a, as a guy, I would have said, you know, hey, we can't go back to my place. I got roommates, which I think is Felix's thing, because he said he was hanging out with his buddies and his roommates. For her, this would have come up if she would have said, you know, I have my kid or my son at home, you know? Danny wants to comment. Danny, what did you want to say?

02:04:16 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 5:

I was just wondering if he knew about her son before the hotel room, because it sounds like a lame excuse.

02:04:24 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 3:

No, because he said when he got done with the date, he said that. He already explained that, right, Felix? I'm right in saying that. That's right.

02:04:33 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, someone said, we went on a good date, and then they were like, you ready to be a dad?

02:04:38 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that... Doesn't that sound like something that dude friends would say? Do you think that that's a lame excuse, Danny?

02:04:47 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know. I don't get it. um who even knows how far they would go after the first date i don't why it matters she has a kid or not she's not asking him to

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 1:

come be his dad, you know?

02:05:02 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 5:

I get it. I mean, Felix, I don't know your thoughts on this, but dating somebody with a child, I mean, it's not like you're going right into dad mode. You can just date and have fun. Are you looking for a long-term relationship, not just for somebody that you can date for a little bit?

02:05:19 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 3:

I just got out of a relationship. I was just kind of looking to have fun. That wasn't my intention to be like, jump into something immediately.

02:05:28 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 5:

that wasn't my hope aside from her having a kid was it a good night oh yeah yeah it was it was a good night yeah because that that's the one thing i always wonder sometimes these guys are like well you know she's got a kid but man she was so much fun to talk to like at that point maybe open your horizons a little bit to something new i don't know you're not gonna be dad from the get-go But if I don't want somebody that's not interested in dealing with the child, that's the last thing you want to do is involve somebody who's not focused on that. Hey, Kenan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Second date update.

02:06:06 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys. This whole morning has been crazy. Megan News. Yeah. I've got a good friend who's like, I'm still getting over Spike. And now if Megan ever leaves the show, it's horrible. Anyway, I don't want to talk about that. Well, let me ask you this question.

02:06:22 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 5:

Kenan. Kenan.

02:06:23 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead, Chief.

02:06:24 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 5:

Question for you. With Megan leaving the show, would you still go on a date with her afterwards? Because she said she'd never date a listener. Now she can date listeners. Ew. This is my second turn on development, dude.

02:06:40 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 4:

So if I have to stop listening to the show to go out with Megan, I've got to say goodbye to you guys. No, I know.

02:06:48 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

But now you don't have to stop listening to the show. You can see that? We're making it possible for every guy in town to be able to get that date that they wanted. Wow, I'm really going to be a prostitute now, guys. Did you want to comment on second date update or just Megan?

02:07:05 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 4:

No, I did, though, actually. I'm the kind of guy, it's like, be honest, people. And I was thinking, well, why didn't this guy just tell her that that was bad? But I'm actually defending him now. If she had interest, and this is why I was confused, if she's calling up to say, oh, gosh, I wanted to see this guy again. How do you not tell him something that important? I've been a single dad for 15 years. I don't get it. And it's the first or second thing out of my mouth. Right.

02:07:32 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 5:

I mean, that's one of the most important things that you would think that would come up is, you know. And Bree, I'm kind of shocked by that. I don't want to pass judgment on you because I feel bad about already you getting the news that you got. She's not hiding her child from the world. She's hiding her world from her kid. Well, it's a tough place out here. Stacy, what are your thoughts? That's great.

02:07:53 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I am a single mom by choice. I had my kids with donor sperm, and they're five and seven years old, and they are my world. And I cannot imagine going out into the dating world and not disclosing that information. Because I feel like whether I had them with someone or not, that's my world. Why would I not tell you that right off? Well, she's just trying to smash, bro. But then that needs to be made clear, I think, in a situation.

02:08:17 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 5:

It was when they went to the hotel on the first night. But you in that case specifically weren't in a relationship. So it's a totally different story altogether. She was in a relationship when she had her child. So maybe it's tougher for her, and she's worried about trying to date. Kristen, what are your thoughts? Mojo on the Morning Show.

02:08:37 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I met a guy that I thought was absolutely amazing and redated for about four and a half months. And I was 19, got knocked up. Oops. But he waited until after I showed him the pregnancy test to tell me, oh, this isn't anything new. I have two other children. He had never told me. Wow.

02:08:57 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

02:08:59 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 5:

So did that bother you or did it make you go, okay, all right.

02:09:03 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gosh. I tried for a minute to be like, okay, I can be a stepmom. But they were older and they hated me and it didn't work mostly because of that.

02:09:13 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay. because I was going to say maybe that was, like, it was meant to be. But Toya's got the most interesting question to ask. And what's that, Toya? Go ahead, ask Bree and Felix.

02:09:23 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'm trying to figure out how did y'all get to this date, right? Did y'all meet online? Did y'all have conversations beforehand? And if your buddies got access to her social media, come on, I cannot believe that they didn't show you. You didn't see nothing. You didn't investigate. So I'm trying to figure out what happened before all of this because I feel like y'all was totally different. Yeah, how did you...

02:09:42 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 6:

That's an interesting point, unless they deep-dived her after. Well, we met on Bumble, but, like, we also went to the same college. So there's some mutual friends there.

02:09:56 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay. And how did you guys get from...

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 2:

the bar to the hotel room without it even coming up like, hey, I got to call my babysitter and tell her I'm not coming home.

02:10:07 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 3:

The bar was connected to the hotel.

02:10:10 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 2:

I understand. But I'm wondering from Bree. Bree, what did you do?

02:10:15 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 1:

I texted the babysitter. No one has to know what I'm texting.

02:10:19 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Fair enough. All right. Second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:10:26 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown, second date update, and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:34 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 2:

Giving you a chance to win a brand new car. It is Find the Fob, and it's brought to you by Moran Automotive. Win a brand new Chevy. 95th caller is going to get qualified. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The 95th caller. Find the Fob. You'll be a contestant.

02:10:54 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:10:57 - 02:11:00 | Speaker 2:

And you thought the Pope dying was a big news story today.

02:11:00 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 3:

Turns out, I'm bigger than the Pope, baby.

02:11:03 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Thank God Megan released this news after we already found out the Pope died, because otherwise people would blame her for killing the Pope with this news that Megan is going to be leaving radio. We'll talk more about that coming up in a little bit. We've been running late, obviously, because, you know, we were talking about it for like 30-plus minutes there. But I want to just reiterate, If you want to listen to the podcast of that, Zach's going to get that podcast up so you can hear it. And then also, I want to talk in just a little bit about some of the things that Megan wants to do when she does leave the show. But you know that this Find the Fob is going to be the last time that Megan's on the air, that broadcast that we have. So May the 2nd. By the way, I think that Moran Automotive should pay extra for that.

02:11:50 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 5:

Lots of extra people are going to be there.

02:11:52 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 2:

That's a big promotion for him.

02:11:55 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 5:

We're going to shake you down. Okay, so Breaking Dirty this morning, Pope Francis has died, if you have not already heard this news. 88 years old, passing away on Easter Monday. The Vatican's announcement comes less than a day after the Pope made a very public appearance for Easter Sunday. Cari, fratelli e sorelle, buona Pasqua. Before that, he actually had a meeting with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. Remember, he had that lung issue. And he's had a lung issue. I didn't realize he was working with only one lung.

02:12:28 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the report that we played earlier this morning. Yeah, yeah.

02:12:31 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 5:

But his death now will prompt a period of mourning. And so all of the cardinals worldwide under the age of 80 will get together to pick the next leader of the Catholic Church. Typically takes between two and three weeks for a new pope to be chosen.

02:12:48 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 1:

I would ask each of you, whatever your capacity, to care one another, be close to one another, respect one another. I bless each one of you from my heart.

02:13:11 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 3:

Get away from me.

02:13:12 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 2:

By the way, one of the things I'm always amazed with the Popes is how these guys, you know, they're Pope to all the languages, right? Yeah. And they have to go and do masses and stuff. And a lot of times you would hear the stories. I think John Paul, he knew like 12 different languages.

02:13:28 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, you have to be fluent in Latin and Italian, right?

02:13:31 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 2:

I believe so. And him being from South America and from Brazil, he was able to speak Spanish. His English got better as time went by because he realized that he had to say mass more so in English a lot. Yeah. So, interesting.

02:13:47 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 5:

Post Malone has scored a big win in the fight to get custody of his two-year-old daughter. I didn't even know this was going on. Filed his own custody documents in Utah just two days before his ex-fiance, Jamie Park, filed her docs in L.A. since he did so first and did it in utah is going to save him a lot of money which i did not understand since california allows for way outrageous payments when it comes to child support he also filed in utah because that's where he and his ex were splitting 50 50 custody of their little girl beyonce now lowering prices for multiple shows on her cowboy carter tour due to low ticket sales so get this you guys the show kicks off with three nights in la beginning April 28th, okay? Is that what you think? So that first show, there's still more than 7,000 tickets available. Resale tickets are now going for as low as $35. When did they release more tickets?

02:14:42 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

$35. Wait, okay. But then they had to have released more tickets because we just talked about how they sold out in a couple of minutes and they were going for $6,000 and now there's all these available tickets and these stories don't make sense. I can't find these tickets anywhere and now they're everywhere. The Chicago show might be different. I don't know. More than 6,000 tickets are now available.

02:15:00 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 3:

for her July 14th show in Atlanta, including 50% of the floor seats. More than 5,500 tickets available for the tour's final night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

02:15:11 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 4:

There's absolutely, like, I don't, I'm not saying you're wrong. What show have you looked for tickets at? I don't understand literally all of them, but Chicago is the biggest one. Why are people so quick to hate?

02:15:22 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 6:

Damn. But if there's 7,000 plus tickets left that they're selling for $30, that's, first off, they should have been selling them for $30 to get.

02:15:29 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 4:

Or is this the Ticketmaster screwing everybody? So did everybody go to Ticketmaster when they were released? Like me, day one when Chicago was announced, I was there in line with 30,000 other people in the queue. I get in and I get quoted $2,000 a ticket and I bail. I'm not coming back and checking. I go, I can't afford these tickets. Ticketmaster needs to change this policy. They are screwing artists and fans.

02:15:53 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 3:

So, but you also, you may have missed what I said. Resale tickets are going for $35.

02:15:58 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 6:

So I wonder if some of these bots and scalpers or people got these tickets,

02:16:03 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 3:

they have so many of them, they have too many of them, and now they're just trying to unload.

02:16:08 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 6:

Bodies. I think that's where the artists need to do what some of these artists do, where you cannot, these scalpers cannot buy these tickets.

02:16:15 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

02:16:15 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 6:

You know, keep them from being able to buy these tickets. Although the artists just want to get sold out, and they just want to end this thing.

02:16:21 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And lastly, Tim Allen, who Kev said was walking around downtown Birmingham yesterday. He was? Yeah. recently revealed some of the very first plot details that we've heard for Toy Story 5. Now, Toy Story 5 not coming to theaters until June of 2026, but he is reprising his role as the voice of Buzz Lightyear.

02:16:39 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 1:

I can tell you that it's a lot about Jesse. Tom and I do, Woody and I do Realine, and there's a unbelievable opening scene with Buzz Lightyear. I can give you that, but I can't give you much more.

02:16:56 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 3:

Jesse Boyce by John Cusack.

02:16:58 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 6:

Interesting. He was in town for Easter with his family. That's cool.

02:17:01 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 3:

Is his mom still alive? Is Marty still alive? Or did she pass?

02:17:04 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I don't know. But I do know this, that Tim Allen loves the city. He does a lot for the city. So that's cool. It's good to see you.

I would love if we could talk about a couple of other things, and then we'll get back to the big breaking news. Lydia, I saw that you went away for your parents' anniversary with them. So your mom and dad, George and Cyan, were celebrating their anniversary romantically going to Arizona to only have the third wheel with them.

02:19:42 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 2:

And that was me. Yeah. I had so much fun, by the way. Did they invite you? Sorry. Or did you just, like, tag along? well my mom mentioned it to me and then i told her i was like oh i'll watch pablo like i'll stay home and watch the dog and then she was like well why don't why don't you come and then she was like well if i invite you then i have to invite your brother and your sister and whatnot so he invited then my dad sent a text inviting all of us and i

02:20:05 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

was the only one who like said i was gonna go and so when you when you noticed that the others were not going it didn't make you go and maybe i'll stay home and let it be just them nope and i

02:20:17 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 2:

wasn't gonna get my own hotel room there was no way i was gonna pull a dollar out of my pocket

02:20:22 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so you stayed with them?

02:20:23 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I actually slept next to my mom.

02:20:28 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. You didn't even let your parents sleep together and consummate 30 years.

02:20:34 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 2:

I told my mom, I was like, I'll spend the day going out somewhere. Maybe I'll go get my nails done. No, she was like, no, it's okay. You can hang out with us.

02:20:42 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 1:

What a C-block. That is, yeah. I can't believe it. It's amazing. Kids do this to you, by the way. Kids always C-block you. Idiot, Ronis. I know, but at that age, exactly. Wait, so what was the room set up? Was it two double beds or something like that?

02:20:58 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was two king beds.

02:20:59 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 1:

Where did you guys go? Where were you guys?

02:21:01 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 2:

We were in Scottsdale.

02:21:02 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 1:

And so you guys went to Scottsdale. Did you go to the pool a lot, or did they all go with you to the pool and stuff?

02:21:10 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 2:

Me and my mom went. My dad stayed in the hotel room for most of the time that me and my mom were out doing things.

02:21:15 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 1:

Why didn't your dad just have, like, time at home? One of the things with your dad is your dad works a lot, right?

02:21:23 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, he does.

02:21:24 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 1:

So this was nice for him to take off and, you know, spend time with his, you know, family. But did he have to travel all the way to Arizona to do this thing? Could he have done it at his own house and you guys could have each had rooms and stuff?

02:21:37 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 2:

He really could have stayed home. It was like a girl's trip.

02:21:39 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, I'm not saying him not going at all. I'm like saying that. It's his anniversary. Yeah.

02:21:44 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but I'm saying, like, at that point, the time that I was spending was just me and my mom. So it could have just been me and my mom at that point for, like, most of it. Oh, God. I introduced him to a man.

02:21:58 - 02:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, OK.

02:22:00 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 2:

How in the heck did this happen? So since we've talked about Mr. Nuts is what I'll call him for now.

02:22:08 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 1:

Let's recap that story real quick.

02:22:09 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 2:

Let's not.

02:22:10 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 1:

There's a guy that Lydia knew that she went out to go visit in Arizona a couple weeks ago. And before she was going out to visit him, he asked her what kind of nuts she likes in her mouth. Meaning he was going to get her snacks, supposedly.

02:22:26 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 5:

No. Okay.

02:22:27 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, allegedly. That was his intention. But his intention, obviously, was stupid. This guy's an idiot. It was a joke.

02:22:34 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 2:

It's fine.

02:22:35 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 1:

And you still wanted your dad to meet this guy? Did you tell your dad that nut story?

02:22:39 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 2:

i didn't no my dad doesn't know any of that and he shouldn't oh okay i feel like he's better off not knowing and if he's listening now well he kind of knows but how okay so i feel how did it

02:22:50 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 5:

happen then that you because like the last that we left it you had kind of cut off all contact

02:22:57 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 2:

with mr nuts yeah we weren't in contact and then i him his mom and i text a lot like she listens to the show she loves to talk to me about certain things and she's just great so her and i were texting and I let her know that I was coming and I would love to see her and so her and I had made plans and then she brought him into the mix of it that he would be coming along which I was like oh that's great but we both knew that him and I were in no contact and I had texted him prior to that just wanted no I texted him like a week week before I had intentions not even coming because I thought I was staying home the entire time I just texted him wanting to clear the air because I knew he had been mad at me for certain things and I had been mad at him for what he said. Okay. So did he apologize, by the way, for what he said? He did.

02:23:42 - 02:23:43 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:23:43 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

And through our discussion, we were just like, okay, we'll be better off as friends. Cause he ended up giving me a call after him, his mom and I made plans. He gave me a call. We went through everything, both said our apologies and we were like, okay, we're just going to be friends. That's all it's going to be. Was I a little bit butthurt about that? I was, but I couldn't feel some type of way because we had that falling out and that was going to be what it was okay anybody else confused no you just never go

02:24:10 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

back she wasn't megan wasn't here megan you were no i i know what happened there but it's like i wanted to cut him off but then i talked to him and then i forgave him and now we're friends but i

02:24:19 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 1:

should cut him off but i went and i saw him like it's gen z there megan that's how they that's how

02:24:26 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 3:

they lived and you were like i deserve to be treated better and now we're talking to him again

02:24:33 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 2:

But that was the one time him and I had a falling out. Like, we've never really argued like that. And he realized what he did was, like, not cool. Yeah, and through communication, it just sorted itself out. And that's all it needed to be.

02:24:47 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so if I know you, you packed, like, a hot outfit. Oh, you know I look good. Of course. And you go to dinner, and George meets him. And what happens?

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 3:

So we went to his house. We actually went to their house, had coffee, had dessert. It was wonderful.

02:25:06 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 2:

Coffee and dessert.

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I didn't get any dessert.

02:25:09 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 2:

Real quick, what was your dad more surprised about? The fact that he's learning this morning that this guy wanted to know what nuts you like in your mouth? Or the fact that this guy was a white kid from Arizona?

02:25:20 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 3:

My dad loved him. Really? We walked away from that. My dad was like, I think he's like the best thing ever. And he's never talked about any guy that I've introduced to him that way, ever.

02:25:31 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 2:

I would have thought your dad wants you to stay with him being a Chaldean.

02:25:35 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 3:

No, he seemed like he was like so thrilled. I mean, he doesn't know that him and I had romantically talked. What's your mom think? Had your mom ever met him? Oh yeah, my mom had met him before and thought he was crazy.

02:25:47 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 2:

So your dad likes him because he thinks that this is a guy friend of yours.

02:25:52 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Could be. I don't know what my dad exactly thinks. Your dad's not dumb. But he's also very quiet.

02:25:57 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 2:

But also, you don't fly across the country and go, Dad, come meet this guy.

02:26:01 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Not also. Let's give George a little bit of credit here.

02:26:06 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 2:

But I don't know. I don't necessarily think that George sometimes gets things. No offense to George. He's a very smart guy. I could see George going, oh, this is one of her guy friends. She has a lot of friends. When Reese and I went back to the birthday party for you a couple, three years ago, whatever it was, we showed up there. She's got a bajillion friends, and there's men, women, you know, all these people. So I could see where he would think that this is just a guy.

02:26:34 - 02:26:39 | Speaker 5:

But not that she's wearing a tight-ass dress visiting in Arizona. Wait, wait.

02:26:39 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 3:

First, I was in a dress and tights, but I did just come from Mass. Okay.

02:26:44 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 2:

But did you have good underwear on? Her dad hopefully doesn't know that.

02:26:48 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 4:

You can't see my underwear on. Yeah, but I'm asking you. I did wear underwear, yes. But did you have the good ones? because there are the good ones and the bad ones and we both know what we're talking about I was wearing good ones

02:26:58 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 2:

but in all fairness she's not all of a sudden going to leave dad and mom with this guy's mom

02:27:06 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 4:

no she was too busy to go see this guy

02:27:09 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't know I find this to be extremely strange call me crazy this is why I find it strange A we went on the air and talked about this this guy and how immature he was in his comments about the nuts thing and Lydia goes back to these guys all the time which to me is crazy don't get me started

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 4:

and this time

02:27:31 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 2:

she brings back her parents which is the ultimate of you should never introduce your family to questionable characters and this guy is definitely a questionable character

02:27:45 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 3:

to me now he's not a questionable character

02:27:46 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 5:

I will stick up for Lydia here and you all know I was very, very upset when I heard what this guy said to her. The fact that he came back and knew that what he said was not cool and extraordinarily inappropriate and apologized. I say we can give him a second chance.

02:28:04 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 1:

Why? Why do you think he apologized? Are you saying why to me or why to her? I'm saying why to you, Shannon?

02:28:10 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Because I think that that's important that he recognized what he said was like not kosher.

02:28:19 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:28:20 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 5:

His apology? I do. That's up to Lydia to decide.

02:28:22 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 3:

But I do. And I forgave him for that. And he forgave me for some of the things that I've said and I've talked about him and whatnot. It's over. That's it.

02:28:33 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 5:

Kev, you even said in relationships that you've been in in the past, you've done or said things that you're like, you deserve another chance.

02:28:40 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure. But I think that I don't believe. So this is his other chance. I don't believe he was being sincere.

02:28:45 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

He does something to her again. We ride it, Dawn. And we're all going to Arizona.

02:28:49 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 4:

Don't you also think that if you disrespect somebody, sorry, I'm trying to get my thoughts in a row. If you disrespect somebody that early into a relationship, isn't that kind of a red flag to be like, this is where it's happening already?

02:29:04 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 3:

I can see where you're seeing it from that angle, for sure.

02:29:07 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? Like, how many times had you seen him in person? Okay, a handful of times before you went out there, correct? Twice. Twice before you went out there, and then this happened as you were going out there. But you guys talked all the time. We did, yeah. But this is a new step, right? Like, if you're traveling across the country to see somebody, that's different from talking online or via text with somebody to then seeing you in person. That's, like, essentially the third time seeing each other he disrespects you like that. That's wild.

02:29:35 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 2:

It sounds to me like Lydia's afraid of his mother.

02:29:38 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not afraid. I like him. And I'm just going to come right out and say it.

02:29:42 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 2:

You like this guy.

02:29:43 - 02:29:48 | Speaker 3:

I do. I met him. I really liked him. And now it is what it is

02:29:48 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 1:

And when you like people You're able to tolerate more

02:29:51 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 3:

He knows I like him

02:29:52 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 1:

You look past their flaws

02:29:53 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 3:

His immaturity He's going to listen to this podcast

02:29:58 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

And he's going to be very

02:30:00 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 3:

upset that we're saying all this stuff, but he's kind of an immature goofball. So, I...

02:30:06 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 2:

I love when you call people goofballs.

02:30:08 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 3:

He's a goofball. Well, I was going to say he's kind of a stupid, dumb son of a bitch.

02:30:12 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Stop!

02:30:14 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 3:

You stupid, dumb son of a bitch! Isn't that the drop that I play here? Huh? That's what you want. Gene Wilder's one? You stupid, dumb son of a bitch!

02:30:25 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

Right? You nailed it. Stupid, dumbass! Yeah, that's what he is. Right there.

02:30:30 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

Um, I think that this guy and your dad should go on a long car ride together in the middle of the Arizona desert, and he should have to explain the D's nuts story to your dad before he's allowed to be in any car.

02:30:46 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't. I agree.

02:30:48 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 3:

Because I will tell you this, your dad scares me from afar, let alone if I was in a car with him, driving with him. You know what I mean? Like, do you ever see what her dad looks like? Yeah. You know what he looks like?

02:31:01 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 4:

He don't seem scary, though.

02:31:03 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 3:

No, he looks like the guy. First off, he looks like the guy that will take you out back and beat the crap out of you if you say something wrong to his daughter. Hence, Dee's nuts. Right?

02:31:15 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 1:

I just need you to say that every day. I feel like, hence, Dee's nuts.

02:31:20 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 4:

He was definitely joking.

02:31:22 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 3:

You noticed Lydia's quiet on us.

02:31:23 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 4:

Leah took it a little too serious, but I think sometimes, as guys, sometimes we don't mean our apologies. We're just trying to get back to your good graces. And we know that by acting like, you know, we understand our flaws and our faults and promising that's not who we are, just had a brief moment.

02:31:40 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, he's already, we'll say that. He gained nothing by being my friend. Like, we gained nothing. Whoa, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, get it.

02:31:48 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 4:

The friend is just a step in the right direction to get in your draws.

02:31:51 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe I have three of you on me like that. Because we're defending you. It's fine. It was one thing.

02:31:58 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 3:

Should he have to apologize to us, too?

02:32:00 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 4:

I think so. I don't even know him. It ain't going to mean nothing.

02:32:03 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I want to be in the car with George driving. I just want to sit in the backseat. I'll hold the camera, the live Facebook live that we're going to be doing when we do this thing. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. um has anybody ever introduced their dad to somebody that was a little sketchy and uh and everything turned out okay after dad had a conversation like dad because this is big the fact that george actually liked him is interesting the fact that lydia's dad actually was good because i would have said right off the bat ain't nothing like that happening maybe it was also the fact that your dad was upset over the fact that his daughter came on his anniversary trip he was just Trying to get the hell out of there.

02:32:50 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 2:

Paid a lot of money to not get laid. They rebooked a different trip. Oh, my God.

02:32:55 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 4:

Redo.

02:32:55 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 3:

And when are you going with that? What's the over-under? You know what?

02:32:58 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 1:

I can't come to that.

02:33:00 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 3:

02:33:41 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 2:

MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:33:43 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Jenny, what did you want to say about Lydia and the Deez Nuts guy?

02:33:48 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 1:

I thought that everyone on this show can be very immature, which I love, by the way. It's funny to me, but you guys are calling this guy out for being immature.

02:33:59 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the only call she calls back is the one coming after us.

02:34:03 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 1:

No, I called them all. No one's answering. Come on, you guys, let up off me. I'm on Lydia's side because I'm a girl and it happens. If she likes the guy who's a little immature and funny, let it go.

02:34:17 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but we also all have that one friend who just won't let people go that they should let go of. Yeah, that too. That too. So you're saying I'm right, I'm going to take it. I agree with you, Megan, when there's like a very, very repeated pattern or if it was something right out of the gate that was so, like, horrible. I mean, this was, yeah, what he said was inappropriate, but I do think he deserves another chance.

02:34:41 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 3:

I think that that's the case, too. But I think she also needs to explain to her dad what this guy did.

02:34:46 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

See, I actually disagree with you. Really? Why? I think there are some things better left and known for George, and the Deez Nuts convo is one of them. I think forgiveness is great if you were meeting up for coffee. Flying across the country is so different.

02:35:00 - 02:35:18 | Speaker 5:

She flew across the country to go meet him twice now, but one time he did that whole thing. She was going to be there by herself without her parents, and he said that. I think that was telling. With that said, should he get forgiveness? Absolutely. I'd give him a little forgiveness, too. But I think the guy also has to pay for his crime. What's going on, Ricky?

02:35:19 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 7:

How's it going, Mojo and the crew?

02:35:21 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Come on, man.

02:35:22 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I think you guys been too hard with Kevin and Mojo, kind of. Because as men, we all make mistakes. we all say things we shouldn't say but it's something in him that she like and she see we have to support and give a chance get a guy a chance i might be her husband one day you know what i'm saying look i understand what's wrong what he said i'm sorry i mean he didn't cuss around he did he didn't cuss around he didn't call the list and that he said what kind of nuts you like play like that as men i agree you know what i'm saying agreed at the same time us being men we look at the wrong way no bro let me let me say this real

02:36:01 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 4:

quick i understand completely where you're coming from understand the totality of what you're saying that was the position i took when lydia first brought this to our attention off air completely where you were what you're not getting is lydia's disdain not only for the comment but her disdain for him and said this is a pattern it wasn't just the one comment she done said a bunch of stuff about old boy that she let go.

02:36:22 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 3:

I did not hear anything else besides that.

02:36:24 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you what I've heard. Okay, so I did not know that. I want to hear that. So let's talk about it.

02:36:29 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 7:

I didn't know that, Kevin. You said Buddy was hella immature. But she's still with it, though. Okay, because the comment was.

02:36:38 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 5:

I don't think that this guy is a bad guy. I actually think he's probably a sweet guy. He's probably dumb like I am. And I think that he just needs to know his words. And honestly, sometimes I think that you have to repent a little bit for his words. I just know Chelsea's dad took me on a car ride. And I want this guy to go on a car ride. And before I could marry Chelsea's, take Chelsea's hand, Chelsea's dad made me go on a car ride and a trip to Denny's. We did. We had to go on to Denny's and sit there.

02:37:08 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 7:

Get a little moons over my hand.

02:37:09 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Literally, I'll never go to Denny's ever again for that reason. What's up, Asia?

02:37:14 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 2:

hey so i think y'all are being really hard specifically megan it's really really she's like you know we all got that one friend who shouldn't be with somebody they've never even been together they're still feeling each other out and so now he knows that kind of joke is inappropriate but i bet you if lydia was in a different headspace and initially heard that when she you know when he gave the joke she probably could have just brushed it off all

02:37:41 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 3:

All right, now, I was not going to address what you're addressing, but Lydia put the call through, so she's fine with it. Let's not pretend we don't have a history, and this isn't a pattern with people.

02:37:53 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 1:

This is a pattern for me.

02:37:54 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 3:

What?

02:37:55 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah, it is a pattern for me.

02:37:56 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and what this comes from is, because we've seen you go through this before, we're being friends. We're trying to protect you from doing the same thing. 1,000%. You know what I mean?

02:38:04 - 02:38:14 | Speaker 1:

You guys are not the bad guy. It's just like when I'm in this moment, and I'm like, oh, my God, I'm actually kind of happy to, like, re-explore something. And then everyone's like, no, no, I agree.

02:38:14 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 5:

And I agree with you, Lydia. I think this guy actually is fine. But I think that you have been with some losers. This guy is definitely not as big a loser as the last guy that you dated. That guy was.

02:38:27 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 3:

We don't know. We haven't spent enough time with him. But we do know that he disrespected her right off the bat.

02:38:32 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 5:

This guy actually seems more quality. And I like that.

02:38:36 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 3:

I just think she deserves more respect. And I don't know how I'm the bad guy for that. You're not a bad guy.

02:38:41 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 5:

Don't ask me about people. Mark, what's up?

02:38:45 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 6:

Mojo. Yes. Good morning, sir. Good morning. You know, you and Kevin are partial right. Us guys, we say and do stupid stuff. But I think you and Kevin are treating Lydia this way because you know that Kevin likes Lydia. and you want Kevin to be with Lydia. That's it. That's exactly it.

02:39:10 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 4:

He wants the complete opposite. He does not want me to be with Lydia. And to correct, I don't like Lydia. I love Lydia. By the way, the best text ever,

02:39:24 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 5:

it was from Misfit Victor, just sent in a text, and he said, George only likes him because he's 9,000 miles away. which might have a little bit of truth to the whole deal Lydia would you oh my god are we going to have two announcements today of people leaving the show would you leave the show to move to Arizona

02:39:43 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 1:

come on I just I like this guy I never said I was like up and out right now okay you talked to his mom

02:39:53 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

I would like to have a conversation with his mom and him on the radio yeah never know let's make that happen alright

02:39:59 - 02:40:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:40:00 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 2:

All right, and George. We got to get George a redo anniversary. Poor guy was just looking for her. He couldn't even sleep in the same bed, is he? He wanted to grab on to Cyan. He couldn't because Lydia was in the bed with her, for God's sakes. It was a desert in Arizona. When we come back here next, more to the big announcement this morning that you heard about an hour and a half ago. Megan announced this morning that she is leaving the show. We'll explain more about that. and explore what Megan's going to be doing after she's no longer on Mojo in the Morning. And then, Kevin, you're not allowed to go into the hallway because we have a surprise coming in studio for you next. So don't go in the hallway. Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes. Shannon, what you got in the Dirty on the 30?

02:40:47 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, everything about the death of Pope Francis. We'll kind of walk you through that. and supposedly Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian are feuding again this time over something very

02:41:01 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 4:

interesting. I'll fill you in coming up in the Dirty. Who is seen with who? Who's banging who? And what will you be talking about all day? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes

02:41:11 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 2:

We still got a lot of time left we're gonna be here for another say less than an hour and uh we had big news this morning big news from megan we will re-explore that and talk about that podcast is up zach on that how long how long was that podcast by the way that was like a regular podcast it was 30 minutes as it should be as it should be uh megan made the big announcement this morning uh and if you missed it it's up on podcast but in just a few moments you do not want to miss when we talk a little bit more with her and spend a little bit more time wondering what she's going to do and what's going to be uh happening she's said that she is going to be leaving uh radio leaving the

02:41:59 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 4:

show uh leaving the planet crazy you're leaving the planet on blue origin you guys i i have a real announcement to make yes i'm a scientologist oh i've been for a really long time see that's

Me and David Muscovich

02:42:51 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 4:

Where's Shelly?

02:42:54 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 2:

She's in my basement Shelly Muscovich Muscovich

02:43:00 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 4:

Me and Tom Cruise are actually besties

02:43:03 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Honestly, I could see myself being friends with Tom Cruise I don't know what it is about Tom Cruise. He seemed cool. He does seem cool. No, he does not. Even with all the crazy Scientology stuff, he's got that fun little smile on him. I like him.

02:43:16 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 4:

He's got that fun little smile. That is the smile of a man who's paid a lot of money to be the head of a church, and everybody does everything for him. He seemed cool, and he'd do his own stunts.

02:43:25 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 2:

I know. And he flies on planes. I was just saying, I don't know a lot of people who does stuff like that. I'm telling you. He'd be a cool guy. I like the guy.

02:43:31 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 4:

He must be cool. He jumps off things sometimes. Yes.

02:43:34 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 2:

You only, Megan only hates him because he ruined Toledo's favorite daughter.

02:43:40 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 4:

Bro, no, didn't ruin her. Who was that? Didn't ruin her. Katie Holmes. Katie Holmes. Went to Notre Dame. Shout out Notre Dame. But let me tell you.

02:43:50 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 2:

Ruined her.

02:43:51 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 4:

Did not ruin her. She's an angel. She moved on. She's a strong, independent woman. She got control of her life. She has custody of her child. She saved her child from Scientology. Toledo supports you, Katie Holmes. You're a good person and a good mother. Boom.

02:44:03 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 2:

Does he have a hot dog up at?

02:44:05 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 4:

If he dies, let me tell you, Tony Paco's, Tony Paco's, I am telling you right now, if

02:44:10 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 3:

Tom Cruise has a hot dog burn, you take that off the wall right now.

02:44:13 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 2:

That would be so interesting if they did. Mission Impossible 2 coming out soon. All right, we're going to give you a last chance this morning to win a car on our show and then listen throughout the day. We only got, what, another, I think, a couple weeks left that will be qualifying you for Refine the Fob, brought to you by Moran Chevrolet. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 95th caller. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. At the end of this Dirty, we got a big announcement for Kevin. Uh-oh. So, a lot of stuff going on. Y'all already ruined half the surprise. We're ruining all the fun that's going on all week by doing it all on a Monday. But, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty?

02:44:56 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, we lost the Pope. The Pope passed away earlier this morning. on Easter Monday at 88 years old history's first Latin American Pope when

02:45:11 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 2:

this soft-spoken man emerged out of the balcony at st. Peter's with a humble bow to the faithful and praying the our father when I say that you expected a pope who would so radically transform the face of the papacy and the spirit of Catholics around the world. But ultimately, Bergoglio couldn't resist the call from above becoming a priest at 32 rising through the church hierarchy while shunning its trappings as a cardinal he sold off the church mansion cooked his own meals and rode the subway while helping the poor so it only seemed fitting that the new pope would take his name from saint francis of assisi who dedicated his life to caring for the poor Catholics now also had their first Jesuit Pope and order of priests devoted to service for the greater glory of God. Gone were the fancy robes and designer shoes. This Pope carried his own bags, paid his own bills, and drove a beat-up car. He chose a modest guest house over the lavish papal apartment. And Pope Francis brought change from the start, alienating some Catholics but inspiring

02:46:40 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 1:

more. Before creating the world, God loved. Because God is love. Instead of washing the

02:46:56 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 2:

feet of fellow priests on Holy Thursday in an ancient ritual, Francis chose juvenile prisoners, including women and Muslims. When ordinary Catholics wrote him letters of despair. He telephoned them personally. Could you imagine? And this Pope was determined to reach out, often wading into the crowds without the bulletproof Popemobile, a headache for the Vatican's security, but a breath of fresh air for the faith. You imagine

02:47:22 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 3:

all of a sudden you get a phone call and it's like, hello, this is the Pope. I'm calling you up. You know what I mean? Like returning your phone calls that you would give. And the idea that, you know, he lived in, they said an apartment, it was a hostel that he was living in. So he was living amongst the people because that was how he wanted to live. Gave up all the lavishness. I will tell you this. If I became the Pope, I'm going right back to the lavishness. I want the nice shoes. I want the nice apartment. I want the car, the Popemobile with security. I would want all that stuff.

02:47:56 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 1:

I just love that it's actually called the Popemobile.

02:47:58 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember why they had that? Because it was, John Paul was an assassination attempt on him. Yeah.

02:48:04 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I don't know if I believe this necessarily, but I'm hearing it, so I'm going to report it to you. Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian are supposedly both in contention for the lead role in the remake of The Bodyguard. And we started to hear rumors about this. Remember I told you at the beginning of last week, Warner Brothers apparently is said to be leaning toward casting Kim for the role originally played by Whitney Houston, despite assumptions that Taylor was going to be the top choice due to her previous work with the director who directed the Eras Tour documentary that we all saw in the movie theater.

02:48:39 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 3:

What makes I think either one of them is good? I mean, Taylor can sing. That's the only kind of connection I see.

02:48:44 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 1:

I could never see Taylor doing something like this. Kim, maybe, but it would still be a stretch. Kim would be horrible at this. Wait, who's putting it on, though? The director who did... It's Warner Brothers, but the director who was behind Eras, the Eras Tour movie. I forget his name If it was like Ryan Murphy I would be like We don't need this No it's bad I see where you're going with that though Obviously because she did American Horror Story

02:49:08 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 3:

If they did Kim Kardashian in that role It would Whitney would come back from the dead And she would Slap that director silly

02:49:19 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 1:

I love it I hope it's a trademark

02:49:22 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys ever think about this With death of people So do you ever think, like, does the Pope go to heaven and all of a sudden go and hang out with, like, Whitney Houston and all the people that have died amongst? Like, you know, I got to wonder.

02:49:37 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Or does he have, like, is there, like, a VIP section that he goes to? Hey, man.

02:49:41 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 3:

You don't think? No, we all got GA tickets. Not me. We all got GA tickets? Not me. You don't think, though, the guy that was the head of the whole church, it gets, like, special, something special? No, we all the same, bro. God, that'd be amazing.

02:49:55 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Now, that's not true, depending on, some people have planets, right? And I'm bad.

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 5:

She's better than you. Yeah.

02:50:01 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:50:02 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 5:

In Scientology, I got a planet. Oh, my God.

02:50:03 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. I think she's a Scientologist.

02:50:06 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 5:

Still on it. Who knew that I was actually a big A and BG for Scientology the whole time? It's the best movie. Just trying to infiltrate.

02:50:14 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Tattoo on your back.

02:50:16 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 5:

What if I did have Zidu just tattooed on my entire back? I know you love the movie, so I'll do this story for you. Kristen Stewart is a married woman. The Twilight star married Dylan Mayer during a very small ceremony in L.A. Are you kidding me? Got their marriage license like three days ago and then said I do in front of just a small group of family and friends. Yep. Real quick, Kendrick Lamar has signed on as Chanel's latest ambassador. Chanel launching its partnership by featuring Kendrick in its new eyewear campaign that is set to be rolled out tomorrow.

02:50:50 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 3:

You should have a doll called the Kendrick. Wouldn't it be kind of like one?

02:50:53 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. I'm sorry, what? The tail should have had it.

02:50:57 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, during an appearance on the Jennifer Hudson show, Jelly Roll and Luke Bryan were asked to reveal the most embarrassing thing that has happened to them while performing. And Jelly was not shy to admit is.

02:51:11 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 4:

What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you while performing?

02:51:15 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 1:

I pooped myself one time. I did. I'm sorry. Listen, it was what they call a ****. I didn't know. I was confident it was all there. It was not. Well, they say never trust one. I'm so sorry. I watched this crowd go from loving me to just being completely out. Just completely out.

02:51:37 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 5:

For all of today's what?

02:51:39 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead. What? Say for all of today's now. Just have him come in.

02:51:43 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 5:

For all of today's dirty, just search more during the morning on the free iHeartRadio app.

02:51:47 - 02:52:06 | Speaker 3:

Where are they going to stand? Right over here. Okay. Who is this? Who is this? It's JG. Y'all saw JG at the party. What's up, JG? You got some big news today. What's in the bag, baby? What is that?

02:52:07 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 4:

So before me and Kevin left for Denver, I was trying to get something achieved at the Pistons game on April 11th. Honestly. I wasn't able to get it achieved then, but as soon as we got back, Once I pulled up to his crib, I got a text from good people at Mary Sheffield's office to bestow Kevin this great award. I'll let you do the honors in my...

02:52:28 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. So for those that don't know, city council, is she the president of the city council?

02:52:33 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 2:

Running for mayor.

02:52:34 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 3:

Mary Sheffield, city council president of the city of Detroit, mayoral candidate. What is she bestowing upon Kev? What is this?

02:52:42 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 4:

In that bag is the Spirit of Detroit Award presented to Kevin Irwin II. What?

02:52:49 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 5:

The Spirit of Detroit Award. And there's her signature right there. That's it.

02:52:58 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 4:

It's a personal message on there, too, as well. What is it? Let's read it.

02:53:02 - 02:53:43 | Speaker 2:

02:53:49 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. But thank you, you know, Mary Sheffield for doing this for Kevin. No more deserving person in the world than Kevin for this one. And what a friend. How did you make that happen?

02:54:04 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 4:

What a great guy. You know, Detroit is filled with, you know, you just got to call some people. You got to call some people to know some people to know some people.

02:54:10 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 3:

02:54:14 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 4:

I get them cut to, like, $20. Oh, okay. All right.

02:54:17 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 3:

It's worth it. That's worth it. It is.

02:54:19 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Shout out to Lydia, too. Lydia definitely been helping me out this whole time to make sure we get here. That's awesome. Shout out to Lee. I didn't know y'all this was wide open. I was like, Lydia, I was sitting right there checking.

02:54:28 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 3:

I know.

02:54:29 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 2:

I see you all by the guy. I'm like, why is JG here?

02:54:32 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's awesome. What a great honor, Kevin. Appreciate you, bro. And no more deserving than you. Now we got to do this. We got to get Megan an award, too. Can we get Megan an award? Let's work on this.

02:54:42 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, please. No, I'm Scientology. Yay! From Scientology.

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 5:

All I wanted was a, they'd get billboards and they'd do them again.

02:55:00 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 3:

people who speak out against Scientology. And all I've wanted my entire career is one of those billboards. Never got one.

Alright, it is Mojo in the Morning. It was two hours ago from now that the world got stunned and they heard the news Megan Mick is leaving the Mojo in the Morning Show and she's actually leaving radio altogether she says. We talked about this in a pod. You'll hear the podcast. You can go see what the podcast looks like. I haven't even seen what what did Zach name the podcast. Let me look here. family meeting huge announcement

02:56:58 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 3:

oh I thought it was going to be like no why would you say that

02:57:04 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 1:

Megan first off will you stop your self deprecation and will you be

02:57:11 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 3:

will you

02:57:15 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 1:

acknowledge that you are loved that there are many many people that love you and it's not just family members It's a lot of people, actually extended family members, the people that you've touched over the years through your laughter, your tears, your self-deprecation and more.

02:57:37 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 3:

Who's going to be the next crybaby?

02:57:39 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 1:

I already have taken that list. She's a crybaby too.

02:57:43 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 4:

We're over here. I'll sit over here.

02:57:46 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 1:

I'll get to turn and read and I'll be like, all right, here they go. Who's going to rail Kevin? Who's going to keep Kevin? Now, y'all about to lose that license. Only thing we worried about is the dumb butt.

02:57:57 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 3:

Y'all about to lose your job.

02:58:00 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 1:

So you had mentioned that. So Megan, for those that just kind of recap a little bit of this, Megan said that she would like to have a life of being able to have a little bit more privacy and that you actually have made this comment numerous times. and I think you made it on the air, but I know you've made it numerous times off the air. You kind of want to have a regular schedule.

02:58:24 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh my God, I can't wait to sleep. I can't wait to sleep, you guys. I truly, I, I've been doing this a long time. Everybody in this industry says, mornings get easier. You're going to get used to it eventually. You're going to start waking up at three o'clock in the morning on a weekend. No, you do not. I am a night owl. I am not meant for these hours. I, it is a struggle. every morning to wake up for this job and i love this job and it is still hard to get my ass out of bed cannot wait year round we get up and we get to work before the sun rises i cannot wait to have the sun be up one day do you have like options maybe man you know she got that line

02:59:09 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 4:

do you have a job that you think you'll be starting in the next couple of weeks um yeah i know what your ultimate goal is i don't know if you want to share but i'm talking like in the interim of making your dream come true which you obviously you'll share in a second like i i didn't know if you had a job to pay your bills no my end goal i don't think that this is going to

02:59:32 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 3:

come as a surprise to anybody what the end goal is i'm pointing to kev because i thought you would just say it i mean you got a lot of goals but the end yeah yeah i didn't know where we going That's what I'm going to call my bakery one day. Lot Lizard Palace. Yeah, for sure. Like, opening up a bakery is, like, if I ever do that, if you ever see me open a bakery, just know that I achieved what I wanted to achieve. You know what I mean? Like, oof.

02:59:59 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 1:

You. You have mentioned to us that your goal also is that you have a lot of things that you want to fight for, and some of those are some causes that you want to fight for.

03:00:11 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I hope to be able to give them a voice.

03:00:14 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 1:

Are you going to move into the, a lot of people will leave radio and they'll move to a PR position or they'll move to a position usually working with some kind of a charitable organization? Is that what you're thinking?

03:00:28 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if it's a possibility for me moving from iHeart.

03:00:33 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean by that?

03:00:33 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean, bro? Non-compete? For charity? That's out of here.

03:00:36 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 2:

Really? Mm-hmm.

03:00:38 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 1:

Because you had a contract?

03:00:39 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

03:00:40 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, I do know this, that the thing that you want to get away from most of all is that you want to get away, your goal is to get away from public life, right?

03:00:49 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But that doesn't mean not providing a voice for people who need it or whatever. But, I mean, that's not fun.

03:01:00 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 1:

Now I can never eat your cookies.

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 3:

That's right.

03:01:02 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 1:

So quick question for you because I'm going to take some calls too because we didn't get a chance to take a lot of calls. When you were making this decision and this thing was coming up, I'm assuming you're a therapist and you had a conversation about this. Right?

03:01:19 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 3:

Never.

03:01:20 - 03:01:21 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:01:22 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever get serious?

03:01:24 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 3:

I think I've been pretty serious all day.

03:01:26 - 03:01:29 | Speaker 1:

No, you have not. I want Megan. I want to talk to Megan.

03:01:30 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. Am I here? M-E-A-U-H-A-N.

03:01:35 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 1:

It do feel like a little bit of representative is here, too, though.

03:01:39 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 3:

What would you like to see? What would you like to see? Truly.

03:01:42 - 03:02:38 | Speaker 1:

No, what I want to know is when you're having this conversation, and you know what? I'll get serious with you. When you're having this conversation, my kids have had conversations with me in the past, and they've told me some things that they either wanted to do or didn't want to do that were, you know, they were out there. And I said to them, I go, have you prayed about this? And I do believe that there's a spiritual part to you. I do believe that you have a spiritual part. You obviously turn to your therapist to have a conversation, then you turn to your family, but then I think sometimes you've got to pray about something. You thought this through enough to be able to write a formal letter and say, hey, this is what I want to do. What is it that made you feel the most comforted since you've decided this decision? Was it a person? Was it something that you felt after, you know, waking up one morning? What was it?

03:02:39 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't know. I really don't know. That's a great question. What has made me feel the most comforted? um knowing that for the first time ever I'm sticking by a decision I made that was hard to make for me it's very comforting I feel proud of myself when it comes to that I don't know I think comforting is weird because I've had people comforting me for a long time with day-to-day stuff so I feel the same support I do for my inner circle I feel the same everything I don't I don't really think it's support right now i think it's just more pride that you made a decision that

03:03:23 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

you're very proud of yeah yeah good for you thanks do you um do you think that and you said earlier in the you can listen to that podcast of the big family announcement um you said that for the first time in your life you felt like you've always felt like you've done things for other people you're doing something for yourself what's going to be the biggest thing that you are going to be

03:03:47 - 03:04:09 | Speaker 3:

doing for yourself by doing this um i think these are tough questions you guys these are like deep tough questions um was i i ask it one more time because i don't know how you phrased it what i

03:04:09 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 1:

what i mean is what is the by doing this and stepping away from public radio life and social media and all the rest of that stuff of you know of having yourself yeah be exploited so to speak

03:04:23 - 03:04:39 | Speaker 3:

by being on the radio because you're just very exposed yeah i don't like exploited i i i show up i i choose to do this i exploited is not fair i'm just i what did what was word you just used Well, we expose a lot of our lives. Yeah.

03:04:39 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 2:

You know, we we live our lives quite openly for the most part. I mean, obviously, there's a little bit that we all don't share because we want to have some semblance of a private life. But for the most part, we are all very open.

03:04:50 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. To the point where it's caused a lot of problems when I've overstepped those boundaries with other people. Understandably so. But again, those are like my choices.

03:04:59 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 1:

What's the biggest thing?

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 5:

of you doing this that's going to be for you taking care of my mental health first for sure

03:05:07 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 3:

giving myself my own peace of mind putting myself first you know what i mean i got to always plate the bad guy fall on the sword whatever kind of taking on that position of well i'll just let people be mad at me and i'm really glad that i don't have to do that anymore that's gonna be great

03:05:29 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 2:

that's gonna be great do you feel like you did it your way yeah how would I not because you've fallen on a sword for people you ain't being yourself you don't like being exposed like it's not like you have you when I say have you did it your way like you have had an amazing career 14 years I think in any industry is amazing like that's consistency yeah but sometimes we show up as a lesser version of ourself just to continue oh for sure and when i say did you do it your way like when i come on this bitch i'm saying what i want to say i'm saying how i feel obviously i can't fully operate the way that i want there are parameters but i'm doing it my way and i think there's a certain like joy and freedom that i have because i'm approaching it that way and i'm just trying to understand do you feel like you did it your way that's a really good question um

03:06:20 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 3:

yes and no i think you have to we're a team so you have to play with the team so other things i would have done differently yeah but this isn't my locomotive um i'm just like a part of the coal crew you know i'm carrying the coal keeping it running whatever i'll give you the power to keep going but like am i overall dissatisfied with how things are run i mean no this is the place like I said when we first talked about it the first time and I'm not trying to bring anybody else into this but there are people around here who have similar experiences of I have not always had the best team around me while working in radio or people that I trusted or felt were professional or whatever it was and this is no side to them this is all growing experiences whatever this this is where I wanted to get in my career you know what I mean like this is the place that was the epitome of our industry. And so, I mean, this is always where I wanted to be. So I think, yeah, it wasn't my train, but I didn't want to conduct the train. I just wanted to be on it.

03:07:33 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 5:

Your other dad is on the phone here right now.

03:07:39 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you othered him?

03:07:40 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm your radio dad.

03:07:41 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Scott Mick. He's on vacation.

03:07:45 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 5:

Your biological dad is here. Scott Mick. Scott, how are you? Good morning.

03:07:53 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 4:

I'm well. I'm well. How are you?

03:07:56 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 5:

We're good. How proud are you of your daughter?

03:08:00 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, very. I'm very proud of her. Love you. Absolutely.

03:08:05 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 1:

Now, when she first came to you and said she was thinking about leaving the show, did you say, you are out of your damn mind? go take a walk and then go back and we'll talk about this again or what was that kind of

03:08:17 - 03:09:07 | Speaker 4:

conversation like because i know you guys are so close gotta be honest anytime um either one of my kids are thinking about leaving the job or going on to a different opportunity i i would like to be the contrarian voice in the room and say are you have you thought this out you know there are upsides to what you're doing and i i think megan is looking for a better work-life balance than than maybe what she's able to get right now and and um i i fully respect the decision that she's making i think she has really thought this through i don't think it was an easy decision it wasn't like she i can't imagine now came in on you know on friday and said yeah i'm done here i'm gonna go on and look for other opportunities and don't know what it is but i mean going somewhere else That was not the situation at all.

03:09:08 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 5:

Scott, I was talking, I don't know if you heard this, I don't even know if you were on hold at the time, but I was talking about when my kids come to me and they want to make some of these decisions. The contrarian is actually very exact words. I'll become the devil's advocate of, you know, are you sure? But also, I'm a big believer, I'm a firm believer that our decisions are made by us, but they're guided by something even bigger than us.

03:09:35 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, higher power. Absolutely. You probably don't know it. Megid is probably one of the most spiritual people you know. Don't tell people!

03:09:44 - 03:09:44 | Speaker 5:

I know.

03:09:45 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you something, Scott?

03:09:46 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 5:

I know that.

03:09:48 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 4:

It's very much who she is.

03:09:50 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 5:

And honestly, I don't...

03:09:52 - 03:09:53 | Speaker 4:

You bitch.

03:09:53 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 5:

But can I tell you something? I said this earlier this morning, Scott, while you were enjoying your vacation and not being...

03:10:00 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 3:

uh called to do a radio show i said that when i was praying for megan this morning one of my prayers was that she realized how much she has accomplished and overcome not just professionally but personally you know what i mean like absolutely yeah her life story has helped so many people there's not a lot of people that have you know picket white fence life and megan has been the voice for a lot of people um but so have you scott don't think that's over i know honestly i think

03:10:29 - 03:10:34 | Speaker 4:

that the next chapter is going to be better and not to detract anything from what she's doing now

03:10:34 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 3:

her voice will be louder and she'll do more i think that's great listen well she's always going to have a home here and i know that she's always going to have a home with you because she

03:10:43 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 4:

said she's moving in your guest room i heard that no no no she doesn't have a home with me she better

03:10:48 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 3:

have a home with you because she's not moving you thought you thought that she was she was going to go back to toledo and everything she's coming back home you tell that girlfriend of yours she's got another lady come in her way, too.

03:11:01 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 4:

I may not come back from school. That's the case. It's beautiful here, so I'm not leaving.

03:11:08 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 2:

The girlfriend and I are going to kick you out of your place. Are you kidding me?

03:11:12 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 3:

Make room with all the tummy Bahamas shirts.

03:11:15 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 2:

Burn them. I cannot wear it.

03:11:18 - 03:11:54 | Speaker 3:

Can I say something to you, Scott? I want you to know this. I was lucky enough to have Chelsea there as my partner in crime to be able to help raise the kids because if I did it all by myself, who knows what would have happened. But I like to look at you and to see the job that you've done with both Megan and with her brother. And I look at you and I go, man, you're a freaking inspiration for any kind of person that is a dad raising their kids or a mom raising their kids. So you're an awesome human being.

03:11:54 - 03:11:55 | Speaker 4:

Don't hold it again.

03:11:55 - 03:12:19 | Speaker 3:

But you know what, though? Like, you know, Chelsea's Chelsea's dad has always been like my model of being a dad. You're also kind of a model of being a dad because you do such a great job and you've given your kids a wonderful life and you've given up a lot for yourself, you know, for your children. And they appreciate that. And I love that. So I'm happy that we are in each other's lives.

03:12:19 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 4:

They're kind of easy to do it for.

03:12:22 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, oh, my God. Somebody cut the audio.

03:12:24 - 03:12:29 | Speaker 4:

It sounds easy to do it for. Yeah, I was going to say. Megan's a little bit more of a burden.

03:12:31 - 03:12:35 | Speaker 2:

The word this morning, she said she hated. I know.

03:12:35 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 3:

We're going to have more time with Megan, and I promise you we're going to have more time with Scott Mick, too, because I want to make sure that we give you your just. You're going to have more voice on this show than Megan ever will post-show.

03:12:48 - 03:12:57 | Speaker 2:

For sure. Further as it should be. Yeah, yeah. Hey, Scumic. Can you say it one time? I love you.

03:13:02 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't dislike you a lot.

03:13:06 - 03:13:08 | Speaker 2:

I'll take it. I'll take it. I'll take it.

03:13:08 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 3:

You guys have such an unbelievable father-daughter relationship. It really is cool. It's a really special thing.

03:13:15 - 03:13:16 | Speaker 4:

He's the best.

03:13:16 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Hey, it's okay to say this. I'm proud of your daughter. I'm proud of our daughter. My two-day.

03:13:22 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 4:

My two-day. I always wanted two dads.

03:13:28 - 03:13:29 | Speaker 3:

We'll talk to you, Scott.

03:13:29 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 1:

Enjoy your vacation.

03:13:31 - 03:13:34 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Go back. What's the temperature like there?

03:13:36 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 4:

Beautiful. It's just sunny, gorgeous all week.

03:13:39 - 03:13:43 | Speaker 3:

We're getting 70 today, but let it rain, so don't worry.

03:13:43 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Your girl with you?

03:13:45 - 03:13:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Okay, get back to it. Megan, love that. Make it weird.

03:13:50 - 03:13:52 | Speaker 2:

Make it weird. Stop it.

03:13:52 - 03:13:54 | Speaker 3:

See you, Scott. Take care, buddy. All right.

03:13:54 - 03:14:03 | Speaker 1:

You too. All right. A lot of poor hiring decisions made by management led to this show, which explains Megan for sure. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:14:05 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. I love listening to his show every morning.

03:14:08 - 03:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Now, we're back to Mojo in the Morning. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:14:14 - 03:14:20 | Speaker 3:

All right, why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? Bree wants to know. So, Bree, what did you guys do on your date?

03:14:20 - 03:14:30 | Speaker 2:

hi yeah um we got drinks and like went to a bar okay so you guys just hung out and drank and had

03:14:30 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 3:

uh had some fun good conversation you like him he's cute yeah i like him he's cute he's really fun totally all right um i always want to ask like questions like what did you guys talk about but i always feel like i don't need to because it will come up whenever we figure out why he's not calling you back um how did you guys end the date did you end the date at the bar

03:14:53 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 2:

well no we um we like decided we wanted to get a hotel so

03:15:00 - 03:15:16 | Speaker 3:

so your date when i asked you what your date was hey we went to a bar and then we got in a hotel did you guys you guys just got a hotel to spend the night because what you drank too much or you

03:15:16 - 03:15:21 | Speaker 4:

guys wanted to spend the night with each other yeah we wanted to spend the night with each other

03:15:21 - 03:15:30 | Speaker 5:

and um you know after he dropped me off from the hotel like the next day i haven't heard from him And, like, he won't answer my tax. So I don't know what to do.

03:15:30 - 03:15:32 | Speaker 3:

Whose idea was it to get a hotel?

03:15:34 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 4:

It was mutual.

03:15:37 - 03:15:37 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:15:38 - 03:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Both of us.

03:15:38 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 3:

All right. So it wasn't like he came up with this, hey, what do you think about us getting a room, you know, and we're going to do that.

03:15:45 - 03:15:53 | Speaker 2:

That's a very big move. And now you're not hearing from him. You know, like, I don't know.

03:15:53 - 03:15:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:15:54 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 6:

Is it a big move?

03:15:55 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 3:

I mean, listen.

03:15:56 - 03:15:59 | Speaker 2:

To decide together to get a hotel room. To have sex together? And then you just never.

03:15:59 - 03:16:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, but to go get a hotel room is interesting. Like the idea, I mean, usually you go back to somebody's house, but maybe the homes weren't convenient. Yeah. And a hotel was more convenient. We're going to find out what's going on. His name is Felix.

03:16:13 - 03:16:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

03:16:14 - 03:16:20 | Speaker 3:

All right. Felix, will you say hello to Bree? Hello.

03:16:22 - 03:16:22 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

03:16:23 - 03:16:37 | Speaker 3:

So. Hey. Felix, you heard what Brie told us, and obviously we were a little shocked by the whole idea that you guys got a room together. How did you like the date? How was the date for you?

03:16:39 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 7:

She was pretty. The date went pretty good. The hotel hang was good.

03:16:47 - 03:16:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, everybody's texting in right now, including Crazy Ricky, who's saying Felix is married.

03:16:56 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 6:

Oh, fix it, Felix.

03:16:59 - 03:17:07 | Speaker 7:

No, I am not married. But I get the way it's been laid out. I could totally see why anyone would think that.

03:17:07 - 03:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. I mean, the idea that you guys hung out with each other and then you decided to do a hotel room instead of taking her back to your place or going to her place. makes it seem obviously really sketchy. Why are you not calling her back? What's going on?

03:17:23 - 03:17:46 | Speaker 7:

So I told my friends about how the night went, and they went, oh, that's so cool. Are you ready to be a dad? And I was like, what do you mean? And they were like, she has a young boy. How do they know?

03:17:47 - 03:17:50 | Speaker 3:

First off, do you have a son, Brie?

03:17:52 - 03:17:58 | Speaker 5:

I do, but I didn't tell him that. I don't know how he knew that already.

03:17:58 - 03:18:01 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how did your friends know this, Felix?

03:18:04 - 03:18:08 | Speaker 7:

They know each other, or they're Facebook friends or Instagram friends or something.

03:18:09 - 03:18:13 | Speaker 3:

So friends of yours know Brie, and Brie has a kid together.

03:18:13 - 03:18:15 | Speaker 2:

And you were very much unaware of that.

03:18:16 - 03:18:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:18:17 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, this was not a thing I was, I wasn't, I was looking for a person to hang out with, have a little bit of fun, but I wasn't always looking to raise the turquoise.

03:18:31 - 03:18:57 | Speaker 3:

Escalade. This is interesting because where I would have thought, like the listeners, that there was something shady to Felix. I don't necessarily think what Brie did was shady although I do find it interesting when people who have kids and we've had this recently too where people will not bring up the fact that they're parents and I don't understand how you think that that's not going to come up some way if you go to the second date

03:18:57 - 03:19:18 | Speaker 2:

but also it can be a very big deal breaker for somebody who is not interested in dating somebody with kids and also those kids your priority I just feel like you, in dating and being a mom, you need to make sure that you are dating somebody who is ready to take on that respect. That would be my very first thing.

03:19:18 - 03:19:23 | Speaker 6:

She's not out here dating to find a father for her child. She's looking for a zaddy for the night.

03:19:24 - 03:19:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, listen, I understand all of that, but also this was, like, the first date. And, like, I was going to tell him, but, like, I was going to let him get him to know me first. But there are some things that are, like, major deal breakers, and kids is one of them.

03:19:43 - 03:19:45 | Speaker 1:

Am I not allowed a fun night?

03:19:46 - 03:19:58 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you're allowed a fun night, but you called us asking why he didn't get back to you. You wanted more than a fun night. You wanted to continue this relationship. It's true. It's true.

03:20:00 - 03:20:12 | Speaker 5:

You confused. Can I ask the question, Brie, when the idea of the hotel came up, whose idea was it, yours or Felix's idea?

03:20:13 - 03:20:14 | Speaker 3:

It was both of our ideas.

03:20:14 - 03:20:22 | Speaker 5:

But who more? You could have said, hey, why don't you come back to my place? I'm wondering if you didn't go back because you had your son there.

03:20:25 - 03:20:28 | Speaker 3:

I mean, yes, my kid was there with a babysitter.

03:20:29 - 03:20:57 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right, which, honestly, I give you props of doing that. But it's interesting because as a guy, I would have said, you know, hey, we can't go back to my place. I got roommates, which I think is Felix's thing because he said he was hanging out with his buddies and his roommates. For her, this would have come up if she would have said, you know, I have my kid or my son at home, you know. Danny wants to comment. Danny, what do you want to say?

03:20:57 - 03:21:06 | Speaker 1:

i was just wondering if he knew about her son before the hotel room because it sounds like a

03:21:06 - 03:21:16 | Speaker 5:

no because no because he said after he said when he got done with the date he said that he already explained that right felix am i i'm right in saying that that's right yeah someone

03:21:16 - 03:21:21 | Speaker 4:

said i i we went on a good date and then they were like you're ready to be a dad do you think

03:21:21 - 03:21:28 | Speaker 5:

doesn't that sound like something that dude friends would say do you think that that's a

03:21:28 - 03:21:43 | Speaker 1:

lame excuse danny yeah i don't i don't know i don't get it um who even knows how far they would go after the first date i don't why it matters she has a kid or not she's not asking him to come be

03:21:43 - 03:21:59 | Speaker 5:

his dad i you know i get it i mean felix i don't know your thoughts on this but dating uh somebody with a child i mean it's not like you're going right into dad mode you can just date and have fun are you looking for a long-term relationship not just for somebody that you can date for a

03:21:59 - 03:22:11 | Speaker 4:

little bit i i just got out of a relationship i was just kind of looking to have fun that wasn't it wasn't my intention to be like jump into something immediately

03:22:11 - 03:22:16 | Speaker 5:

aside i wasn't that wasn't my hope aside from her having a kid was it a good night

03:22:17 - 03:22:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was a good night.

03:22:20 - 03:22:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because that's the one thing I always wonder sometimes. These guys are like, well, you know, she's got a kid. But, man, she was so much fun to talk to. Like, at that point, maybe open your horizons a little bit to something new. I don't know. You're not going to be dad from the get-go. But if I don't want somebody that's not interested in dealing with a child, that's the last thing you want to do is involve somebody who's not focused on that. Hey, Kenan, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Second date update.

03:22:49 - 03:23:03 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. This whole morning's been crazy. Megan News. Yeah. I've got a good friend who's like, I'm still getting over Spike. And now if Megan ever leaves the show, it's horrible. Anyway, I don't want to talk about that.

03:23:03 - 03:23:06 | Speaker 5:

Well, let me ask you this question, Kenan. Kenan.

03:23:06 - 03:23:07 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead, shoot.

03:23:07 - 03:23:22 | Speaker 5:

Question for you. With Megan leaving the show, would you still go on a date with her afterwards? because she said she'd never date a listener. Now she can date listeners. Ew. This is my second date on Dave Alvarez.

03:23:23 - 03:23:31 | Speaker 2:

So if I have to stop listening to the show to go out with Megan. No, no. I got to say goodbye to you. No, I know.

03:23:31 - 03:23:47 | Speaker 5:

But now you don't have to stop listening to the show. You can see that? We're making it possible for every guy in town to be able to get that date that they wanted. Wow, I'm really going to be a prostitute now, guys. Put me on the list. Did you want to comment on Second Date Update or just Megan?

03:23:48 - 03:24:15 | Speaker 2:

No, I did, though, actually. I'm the kind of guy, it's like, be honest, people. And I was thinking, well, why didn't this guy just tell her that that was bad? But I'm actually defending him now. If she had interest, and this is why I was confused, if she's calling up to say, oh, gosh, I wanted to see this guy again. How do you not tell him something that important? I've been a single dad for 15 years. I don't get it. for a second thing out of my mouth. Right.

03:24:15 - 03:24:35 | Speaker 5:

I mean, that's one of the most important things that you would think that would come up is, you know, and Bree, I'm kind of shocked by that. I don't want to pass judgment on you because I feel bad about already you getting the news that you got. She's not hiding her child from the world. She's hiding her world from her kid. Well, it's a place I'm here. Stacy, what are your thoughts? That's great.

03:24:36 - 03:24:36 | Unknown:

I don't know if I can.

03:24:37 - 03:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I am a single mom by choice. I have my kids with donor sperm, and they're five and seven years old, And they are my world. And I cannot imagine going out into the dating world and not disclosing that information. Because I feel like whether I had them with someone or not, that's my world. Why would I not tell you that right off?

03:24:54 - 03:24:56 | Speaker 4:

She's just trying to smash, bro.

03:24:57 - 03:24:59 | Speaker 3:

But then that needs to be made clear, I think.

03:25:00 - 03:25:02 | Speaker 9:

It was when they went to the hotel on the first night.

03:25:03 - 03:25:19 | Speaker 8:

But you in that case, you in that case specifically weren't in a relationship. So it's a totally different story altogether. She was in a relationship when she had her child. So maybe it's tougher for her and she's worried about trying to date. Kristen, what are your thoughts? Mojo on the morning show.

03:25:20 - 03:25:39 | Speaker 10:

Hi, I met a guy that I thought was absolutely amazing and we dated for about four and a half months. And I was 19, got messed up. Oops. But he waited until after I showed him the pregnancy test to tell me, oh, this isn't anything new. I have two other children. And he had never told me. Wow.

03:25:40 - 03:25:41 | Speaker 9:

Oh, wow.

03:25:42 - 03:25:46 | Speaker 8:

So did that bother you or did it make you go, okay, all right, you know?

03:25:46 - 03:25:55 | Speaker 10:

Oh, gosh. I tried for a minute to be like, okay, I can be a stepmom. But they were older and they hated me and it didn't work mostly because of that.

03:25:55 - 03:26:04 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Because I was going to say maybe that was like it was meant to be. But Toya's got the most interesting question to ask. And what's that, Toya? Go ahead, ask Bree and Felix.

03:26:06 - 03:26:28 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, so I'm trying to figure out how did y'all get to this date, right? Did y'all meet online? Did y'all have conversations beforehand? And if your buddies got access to her social media, come on. I cannot believe that they didn't show you. You didn't see nothing. You didn't investigate. So I'm trying to figure out what happened before all of this because I feel like y'all was totally different. Yeah, how did you know? That's an interesting point, unless they deep-dived her after.

03:26:29 - 03:26:38 | Speaker 10:

Well, we met on Bumble, but, like, we also went to the same college, so there's some mutual friends there.

03:26:39 - 03:26:49 | Speaker 8:

Okay. And how did you guys get from the bar to the hotel room without it even coming up, like, hey, I've got to call my babysitter and tell her I'm not coming home?

03:26:50 - 03:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the bar loves connected to the hotel.

03:26:53 - 03:26:57 | Speaker 8:

Well, I understand. No, but I'm wondering from Bree. Bree, what did you do?

03:26:58 - 03:27:01 | Speaker 10:

I texted the babysitter. No one has to know what I'm texting.

03:27:02 - 03:27:02 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

03:27:02 - 03:27:03 | Speaker 10:

All right.

03:27:03 - 03:27:09 | Speaker 8:

Fair enough. All right. Second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning show.

Real winners, thousands of them. While everyone else is in the single swamp, I'm at home relaxing while stacking bonuses, hitting wins, and playing all my favorite Vegas-style games.
