You're a doo-doo hat. Here we go, go, go.

00:03:12 - 00:03:15 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. It's showtime!

00:03:40 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

You know, the Pistons won again. Yeah. You know, the Pistons won again. Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's good to have you guys here. A little delay, but I got it. Wow. Pistons' first playoff win since Chauncey was on the team. Come on, man. Is that unreal or what? Good times. 2004. 2008. Yeah. Wow. Last time we won a game. Yeah. Back when they won the championship in 2004, they kind of, they could have been a dynasty. And they were playing in, I blame it all on Robert Ory. It's all Robert Ory's fault. Yeah, I agree. But the Pistons in a huge win last night at Madison Square Garden. This is the wildest part. The last time that the Pistons won a playoff game, their starting lineup was Chauncey Billups, Richard.

00:05:00 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

Rip Hamilton, Antonio McDyce, Tayshawn, the Prince of the Palace, and Rashid Wallace. Cade Cunningham was six years old. Asar Thompson was five years old. And Jalen Nuren was four years old.

00:05:16 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. Is that insane?

00:05:18 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 4:

That's right.

00:05:18 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 1:

Going over here.

00:05:19 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. That's amazing.

00:05:20 - 00:05:21 | Unknown:

I knew, like, two of those names.

00:05:22 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, guess what? You're going to know them if they keep winning.

00:05:25 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say.

00:05:26 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 4:

We're going to be wearing jerseys and everything. So, it's cool. I'm excited for this. So congratulations to the Pistons. Back home where Kev's got the mic. Oh, my God. Thursday is about to be crazy. I'm so excited.

00:05:37 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be damn near 80 degrees on Thursday. It's going to be sunny and 80.

00:05:40 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be the best day.

00:05:41 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

They should play the game outside. Why don't we play the game? Can I ask you a question? Because this is your first playoff game, isn't it? It is. So the first time that you have worked the mic at the Pistons and you're going to be on that mic, question for you. Does it make you nervous for something like this? because it's going to be nationally televised. It's the Knicks. This would be amazing if they could go up two games to one. You have to feel like part of this, right?

00:06:10 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Of course I feel a part of this. I am a part of this. Everybody that lives in the city of Detroit or that roots for the Detroit Pistons should feel a part of this. But to your first question, do I feel nervous? You can't feel nervous when you got purpose. Oh, okay. And I'm here for a reason. I'm ready to go. I don't want to be one of those individuals that say I treat every game like game seven. Obviously, the awareness is at an all-time high. We're playing for more than just a moral victory, and it doesn't end on Thursday. We want to continue. This is a winnable series, and we've proven that in the first game, even though we lost, we had moments where we should have won. And we came back with that focus. We recalibrated for game two. And game three at LCA, let's go.

00:06:51 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 4:

Let's go. Let's go. This is why I don't hold a mic at a stadium. I'd be like, let's go.

00:06:57 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

Let's go, guys. Come on. Anybody coming with us?

00:07:02 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 4:

I got my Pistons on today. Did you like this? My Mitchell and Ness?

00:07:05 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I love that. Why are you rubbing yourself like that? Yeah, that was a lot of nipple touching.

00:07:09 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you.

00:07:11 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 4:

Later this morning, I want to play for you something I saw on a podcast. Dwayne Wade talking about Mason and talking about the Detroit Pistons fans and how Detroit basketball was the hardest thing for him as a player of an opposing team. To be here in town. She said people would stand outside of their hotel rooms.

00:07:30 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

I saw that.

00:07:32 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 4:

I'll throw that in, and we'll play some audio of that. So it'll be cool. It'll be good. All right. Well, it's Mojo in the morning show. There's something crazy going on right now in Shannon's household, actually probably in a lot of high school seniors' households or high school kids in general, because I think it's funny because I think that when Luke was also a junior, he participated in this. Probably he wasn't supposed to. But there's a thing called Water Wars. Do we have any people doing water wars right now? It's huge in the metro Detroit area where the high school kids, the class of now, are out and they're trying to win a squirt gun battle with each other.

00:08:11 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 2:

But this is not a squirt gun battle. This is not everybody go in the backyard and grab a Nerf gun and soak each other. this is teams that carefully plot the whereabouts of their opponents on i don't even know how they're doing it if it's life 360 yeah if it's snapchat or life 360 or what they're doing how they're doing this but my steps on kieran this is all that he wants to talk about in our house right now and i'm not joking when i say there are filled water guns at at every turn in my house including one that is on like a tripod. It is this huge, you have to like kneel down to work. I mean, they are absolutely crazy about water wars and getting your opponent out. I mean, there's a lot of money that is potentially at stake here because you have to buy in. Yeah. I don't know if you're supposed to. Yeah. So scratch that if you're not allowed to do that. I'm just making that up.

00:09:11 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 4:

Luke's was that it was the pride of being the champion of school, but I think they did get at Notre Dame Prep, they did it for money.

00:09:19 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, like yesterday I was home and he didn't have school. And so I'm making lunch and he's, I can hear him on FaceTime with one or two of his buddies and they're trying to like plot out and stalk people at coming out of a doctor's appointment and at their prom tuxedo fitting. And this guy, you're not allowed, you're not allowed to shoot them at practice, but one of their opponents, they were going to try to get walking out to his car after practice i mean it is so legendary it is strategic so i remember uh and i don't know if

00:09:53 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 4:

our listeners remember me having a conversation when my kids because it all went all the way back to joe doing this and do you remember

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 2:

I remember me telling the story about pulling out of my driveway and having the poop scared out of me when I pulled out of my driveway and a bunch of kids jumped out of the bushes in front of my house.

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 1:

It's nuts.

00:10:11 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

And they said they literally were like, sorry, we apologize. We're here for Luke. I'm like, you think Luke's up this early in the morning? Are you crazy? And they were offering me to pay me money to let them get in my house to give up my kids.

00:10:27 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 1:

Absolute insanity. Well, I even said to Kieran, I said to him when this first started a couple of days ago, oh, this is, this is, you kind of have an advantage because he goes to school on the east side, but when he's with Wes and I, he's on the west side. Yeah. So about 40 minutes away. And he was like, oh, they don't care. Yeah. They will be out. They will be out. They know where they will be. Now I go out to the car in the morning and I'm scared. Every time I go out to my car. What is that? Like you said, I'm scared. that someone's going to be standing there.

00:11:00 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

It's a wild thing to figure out how they know where you're going to be. It makes me wonder if they are all on the apps.

00:11:08 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Snap Maps.

00:11:09 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, is it Snap Maps? Snap Maps. But wouldn't you be smart, though, to turn off your GPS? We're talking about teenagers.

00:11:16 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 1:

I was kind of half listening when he was explaining this to me, but there was an app you needed to turn off and an app you needed to turn on that everybody who was playing, I can't remember what it was.

00:11:26 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

That has to make it fun, though. I feel like that's part of the game. People should know where you are, so you're always on alert. Yeah. That makes it. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Do we have any water warsers that are doing this thing right now?

00:11:42 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, I had to ask him, because we did not do this at Gross Hill High School, and I would never have wanted to participate because my anxiety levels are out of this world, and I wouldn't have been able to sleep.

00:11:54 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

You made bows and things like that for kids. You were like, yeah, you were like, you did.

00:12:01 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 1:

I was not about to do something that I was going to have to watch my every move for six days.

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 2:

I was kind of crafty.

00:12:09 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 1:

It was a scrapbook time.

00:12:10 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she did like the Taylor Swift bracelet. It's a scrapbooking, yeah. I do have to be honest with this water war thing. It has not gone by without tragedy. I mean, the cop. Well, the cops tell you, you can't have a gun that looks like a gun. Make sure that the gun looks like a water gun. Right. Because if you pull that stuff out and a cop sees you, who knows? If you point that, you're going to get yourself shot.

00:12:39 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

We actually almost got into an accident the other night because we were driving and there was a group of kids that were outside of a Starbucks. And I don't think they realized that the light had turned and they ran across the street with their guns to get somebody else. And Wes almost hit them. And he was paying attention. It's gotten to the point where the police in our town have put rules on where they can and can't play as well.

00:12:59 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Morning, Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:13:02 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 3:

Good. How about you? Who's this? Good. I had water wars in my restaurant last night. Did you? They've got a couple old people. Really?

00:13:11 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. First off, what's your name and where are you from?

00:13:16 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 3:

Trisha. I am from Rochester Hill.

00:13:18 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

So they came into your restaurant last night? The kids came in? Because what? one of the kids from school was inside there eating with his family?

00:13:26 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

No, actually, one kid was sitting at a table right next to several elderly couples. Yeah. And a kid that was working next door at a store ran out of his job while on the clock, came into my restaurant, got up not only the other child, but a bunch of elderly people.

00:13:50 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, those poor old people. Yeah, you got some, what do they call that? They call that collateral damage right there. Elderly collateral damage. That's horrible. That's sad to see. By the way, they do this in all three of our listening areas because we've got text messages here from Grand Rapids, text message from Sylvania. Sylvania PD has banned it because, remember, we're old. We're old. We don't do, we no longer young.

00:14:19 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if you know this, but I'm actually the youngest one in this room.

00:14:22 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

You're also mid-30s, aren't you, by now, or no?

00:14:24 - 00:14:28 | Speaker 3:

If I'm mid-30s, then we're all geriatric at this point. Come on. How old are you? 32?

00:14:29 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 2:

How old are you? 32? What are you, 30? 31?

00:14:32 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to let you keep digging this hole.

00:14:34 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Damien? Let's talk the class of the 2000s now. What's going on?

00:14:40 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Mojo? This first-time caller, man. Yay! What's up, buddy? No, I stay in Monroe, and, you know, we got the little Facebook pages and all that. They made a post on Facebook.

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 1:

be calling the cops i guess the businesses all be calling cops and everything because they'd be getting scared yeah all these teenagers running around creeping around the businesses well that's

00:15:08 - 00:15:17 | Speaker 3:

the thing nowadays it seems crazy that they're able to do this stuff when you see all these shootings at schools and stuff like that but yeah they right got all these kids running around like

00:15:17 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 1:

gun figures and whatnot it's dangerous for the kids too for real i know the i think that what

00:15:21 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 3:

they got to have is they got to be doing this with a hose like a good old-fashioned hose remember that you have to walk remember when you're a kid you run through the sprinkler that was the fun things Rachel what's going on hi hey good morning good morning what's going on so

00:15:37 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 5:

I went to uh Harrison High School in Farmington Hills if you know you know yeah absolutely best football program around yeah big football school and we I remember driving to school there would be people during I didn't play myself because I was too scared but There'd be people standing along the street on the main road, these huge football guys holding their giant water guns like they were in the Army, like soldiers. Oh, my God. Just standing there. By the rock. So scary.

00:16:06 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 3:

That big rock off of 12 Mile. I remember that. Yeah.

00:16:09 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, exactly, exactly. I didn't play because my house was surrounded by woods, and I just knew that someone was going to pop up. Oh, I could have never.

00:16:17 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 3:

No way. I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Pam, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about how Shannon's got to deal with her stepson playing Water Wars. What's up?

00:16:27 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 6:

Well, I am the same build and same hair color as my boss's daughter. And they were playing Water Wars in Lake Orion. So I was a decoy for them. And they went around the back door while I went out the front door. And they sneak attacked the kids that were attacking. That is so great.

00:16:52 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 3:

I'd be pissed. By the way, if a kid shot me with a water gun, I'd beat the snot out of that kid. You know?

00:16:58 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 6:

I got a free PTO. Okay, so worth it.

00:17:03 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Boss, I'm sorry. I'm not your daughter. You're not going to do this. It's got to be flattering to be mistaken for a high school child. That actually would be flattering. That is true. Shannon, be careful in the morning when you're going out there. I'm telling you, this is why. That's what I'm saying. This is why Wes needs to move the gym equipment out of the garage. Put your car in there, for gosh sake, right? Yes. Pull in and pull out. All right, wait, not that. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day.

00:17:29 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 4:

Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:33 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, this is a clip from the past. I remember this guy's name. This was the year that Corliss Williamson of the Pistons won sixth man of the year award.

00:17:42 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 2:

Vinny Johnson's number 15. the microwave was here tonight to make the presentation for the NBA.

00:17:50 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Listen to George Block.

00:17:53 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 7:

Count that baby in a fall.

00:17:55 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 3:

Eight Mile was the big movie.

00:17:57 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 7:

What's the matter, dog? You with parents? This guy's a gangster? His real name is Clarence. And Clarence gives a home to both parents. And Clarence's parents have a real good marriage. He's got a little battle. He's shook because there ain't no such name as Rockway Brooks.

00:18:12 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 3:

And the big song.

00:18:14 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I love it.

00:18:15 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 3:

Fat Joe Ashanti. Win tickets to see Halsey at Pine Knob. What year was that?

00:18:24 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 4:

You're smart. Prove it. You remember the year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. He cheated on his wife to be with you. And now he's cheating on you? Shocker.

00:18:38 - 00:18:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I listen to the morning show because I like War of the Roses.

00:18:40 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 4:

Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 7.40 on Mojo in the Morning. Scandal. Wow. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. We give you clues. You tell us the year. We give you clue prizes.

00:18:54 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 3:

All right. This was the year that Corliss Williamson, that's a blast from the past, huh? Of course, this is the Back in the Day. That's why. Was the Pistons' sixth man of the year.

00:19:06 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 2:

Johnny Johnson, number 15, the microwave, was here tonight to make the presentation for the NBA 6th of the year to Corliss Williamson.

00:19:18 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Didn't we, we got rid of him, didn't we, to get Rasheed, right, I think, or something like that? Wasn't it kind of like, no, he was on the championship team. Was he on the championship team, Corliss? 8 Mile was the big movie.

00:19:28 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 7:

What's the matter, dog? You in Paris? This guy's a gangster? His real name is Clarence. And Clarence keeps a home to both parents. I gotta watch this movie again

00:19:37 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 3:

I haven't seen it in a while

00:19:39 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 7:

And the big song

00:19:44 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 3:

Fat Joe Ashanti Christina what year was that?

00:19:50 - 00:19:51 | Speaker 5:

2002

00:19:51 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes it was What gave it away Christina?

00:19:57 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 5:

8 Mile I remember not being old enough

00:20:00 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 1:

I took five tickets, so I didn't stop my dad to buy them for us. Oh, yeah.

00:20:03 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Congrats. We're going to set you up with Halsey tickets. You are old enough to go to see Halsey, right? Awesome, thank you. I just want to make sure. Now I am. Thank God. All right. Pine Knob is where that's going to be. So congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with the tickets, okay?

00:20:18 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 2:

The 95th caller is going to have a shot.

00:20:54 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:20:57 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 5:

We're going to get you caught up on what is trending in the Dirty on the 30. Hello, Shannon.

00:21:03 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Well, a death certificate issued by the Vatican lists the cause of death for Pope Francis as a stroke that prompted irreversible heart failure. The certificate officially lists the cause of death as cerebral stroke, coma, and cardio circulatory collapse. It also detailed his prior health struggles, including that bilateral pneumonia that he was recently hospitalized for, spent about a month in the hospital, hypertension, and he also suffered from type 2 diabetes. President Trump yesterday talking about the Pope.

00:21:42 - 00:21:50 | Speaker 1:

He was a very good man who loved the world, and he especially loved people that were having a hard time. And that's good with me.

00:21:50 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 6:

More next hour on his funeral details and plans and all of that sort of stuff.

00:21:55 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 5:

And all the people that are going to be going. I think it's going to be every president of every country that has any kind of Catholics in it are going to be there.

00:22:05 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 6:

Haley Bieber coming out to say she has been diagnosed with two ovarian cysts after giving birth to her son with Justin, Jack Blues, last year. She wrote online, currently have two ovarian cysts. If you deal with ovarian cysts, I'm right there with you. And if you know anybody who has one or several, they're actually really common. They'll go away on their own most of the time. But some of them can burst and cause some pretty serious symptoms like really, really bad abdominal pain and bloating and bleeding. So she's just sharing. Sharing what she's going through. I had a friend who had one the size of a golf ball that I just bought. Oh, my God. I cannot even imagine. Am I crazy? That sounds really painful. George Clooney said he and his wife, Amal Clooney, never fight. Like, ever. During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, George recalled telling Gayle a couple of years ago that he'd actually never had an argument with Amal. And he said yesterday, nothing has changed.

00:23:03 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 3:

Remember, we said we'd never had an argument. We still haven't. You still haven't? No, we're trying to find something to fight about. But I think because I started so late with them all

00:23:16 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 2:

I remember when you said you'd never get married You'd never have kids Yes Now you're married

00:23:20 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 3:

See what happened to me Yeah I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman And I feel as if I hit the jackpot

00:23:31 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 5:

Can you counsel Ben Affleck in any of his relationships? Right Or any of the rest of us in relationships? I mean, come on Amazing that you have never had a fight in your relationship. I mean, how old were they?

00:23:42 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God, for you.

00:23:43 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 5:

How old were they when they linked up? He was older, right?

00:23:46 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 4:

I feel like that has something to do with it, too. You think so, though? You don't think old people fight? I feel like if you get to a certain age, you got less to be concerned about for real.

00:23:54 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 5:

Do you? Listen, I got to be honest with you. I don't care what age you are. I think if you're married.

00:23:59 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 4:

There's always something.

00:24:00 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:24:00 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 4:

There's always something. I don't think it's healthy. You get old, you throw $100 million in the bag. Like, I mean, we really argue about it.

00:24:06 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 6:

By the way, he had the hair. We were talking about the hair, the dark, the very, very dark brown, clearly dyed brown hair, which he has, by the way, because he's playing that famed journalist Edward R. Murrow in a new movie. And he said he knows it's really bad.

00:24:22 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 2:

I have to take a moment looking at you with the dark hair.

00:24:25 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 3:

I know it's not good.

00:24:26 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say it wasn't good. Oh, it's not good. But it's jarring to me. I wonder what it's like for you when you get up in the morning and you look. By now, I'm sure you're used to it.

00:24:34 - 00:24:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm not used to it. You never get used to it. You don't. Listen, I started getting great. It grows me a little bit. Yeah. So I've been gray most of my life. So it's not my favorite look. And my wife, she thinks it's funny.

00:24:47 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 2:

Wigs have come so far.

00:24:49 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 5:

It is amazing to see him without that gray hair. The salt and pepper.

00:24:54 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 6:

He is the silver fox. Why not put him in a wig for the movie?

00:25:00 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 4:

what i mean because like they're so much better now why make him look that terrible you know what

00:25:04 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 2:

he looks like he looks like the guy you ever see these guys that have their hair so excessively dyed and yet their face has the wrinkles on it and stuff like that and their beard is gray but then their hair it's weird like everything about them is old yes you know what i mean they walk old and then they've got this big old dark black hair and a lot of times the dye job is bad

00:25:25 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 3:

And even if it's dark, it has a golden blonde tint to it. And that's how you know that it is straight from CVS. It's bad.

00:25:33 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 5:

I like some local celebrities that do that. I don't know if they're on the news or something. I can't think of their names.

00:25:37 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, Dick Purden used to have it, the old radio guy. He did. He used to have the biggest, like, you know, dyed mustache.

00:25:44 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, you're on radio.

00:25:46 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 5:

Huel Perkins used to have a vibe like that, too.

00:25:48 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, Huel had the, yeah, he had the gray hair, and then he would have the really dyed, again, facial hair.

00:25:53 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, according to a new study, some fast food restaurants are way more unhealthy than others. I'm talking, like, really bad. Want to know the worst one, and it's one that my kids just discovered. Give it to me. Five guys. Oh, yes. One burger there is, like, 4,000 calories. Yes, specifically the cheeseburger and their fries are real bad.

00:26:14 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 5:

You can tell by the brown paper bag. Oh, my God.

00:26:17 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the saturated fat is through the roof. whataburger smash burger and carl's jr trailed behind five guys in that ranking i always thought

00:26:27 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 2:

chipotle was healthy and then i looked at some of the numbers of like chipotle and then i also looked at like the pokey places and i would look at that and i'd think oh these places have got to be healthy too and then you look at some of their don't look at the uh don't you're not you're going

00:26:40 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 3:

to the cheesecake factory and get a salad and it's 2100 calories it's your daily allotment my chipotle

00:26:47 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 4:

doesn't have any sour cream, cheese, anything like that, it's relatively

00:26:51 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 2:

healthy. Yeah, that's right, because they run out

00:26:53 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 4:

of everything? No, I don't need dairy.

00:26:55 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 2:

We will not. Oh, I thought you were saying they don't have it because they never have it. I was going to say, they never have chicken whenever I go to Chipotle. They're always running out of that stuff. Is it healthier to not eat the dairy and all? Because I always thought that there's a little bit of dairy is not horrible for you, though. I think it's just

00:27:13 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 4:

high in fat and high in calories. Is it?

00:27:14 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 2:

You can carry a little dairy.

00:27:16 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 5:

And Carrie.

00:27:18 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 3:

What colors are coming off the rails right now? What do you got there? What kind of colors are coming by?

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 3:

Red, black, white.

00:35:02 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man.

00:35:02 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 3:

Like a dark blue.

00:35:04 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I like it, huh? Look at that. I've always wanted to, if anybody's ever, anybody ever has the ability to, like, give me a tour of a factory, I would love to do that sometime. Never done it. I've done the Rouge tour, but I'd like to, like, where exactly are you, Missy?

00:35:20 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the plant I worked at is the Rouge.

00:35:23 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 1:

I've done just the, like, the one that everybody gets to do. Like, I want to go the nuts and bolts. I want to get right there with you. Whoa. I want to go in the cafeteria where all the gossip is.

00:35:34 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 3:

Definitely different. Different kind of job.

00:35:36 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. Hang on one second. We're going to set you up with a parting gift. That noise, by the way, would ruin my ears. We're going to set you up with a parting gift this morning. We've got Urban Air as a sponsor this week. Urban Air Adventure Park. Four-pack of premium passes. Enjoy that with your family. Hang on one second. We'll get set up. It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 6.55. Five, five. W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live. It's Mojo in the Morning Show, your home of War of the Roses, the throwback throwdown, second date update, Dirty on the 30, Five Lies Tell Your Mom. We've got a War of the Roses coming up this hour. A girlfriend thinks that her boyfriend is cheating. Her reasoning behind this is all stemming from the fact that she found a condom in his car and they're not doing it in a car. And the whole background about the fact that he actually has cheated before. They've been together for eight years. Eight years dating, not one talk of him putting a ring on her finger. So that also seems weird to me too, that long relationship. We'll get into that this hour coming up after Shannon's Next Dirty. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan Mick, the big announcement came down yesterday that Megan is going to be leaving radio. Megan is getting out of the public eye, being off the radio, not going to be doing this anymore. She's got just a couple of weeks with us. If you missed the podcast of that or missed the video of that, you can go see that. Check that out. Was it tough for you to do that? Because it was funny. I went back and I looked at the video of that. And I got emotional at a couple of points. Was it tough for you? Because you didn't get emotional at all. And I wondered.

00:37:34 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 3:

You are so upset that I did not.

00:37:35 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Do you not love us?

00:37:38 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's it.

00:37:40 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 1:

Are you emotional about this? Or is this like happy, I'm happy, I'm happy getting out of here?

00:37:44 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm happy. So it's good. Oh, my God. I watched the video last night. And I was sitting on my kitchen floor, like, petting the dogs. and I watched it after Bianca had posted it and I'm sitting there crying and I hear Wes from the other room go are you okay what's wrong and I'm like I'm watching Megan's announcement today

00:38:03 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 1:

that's how I work I am not okay

00:38:05 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 2:

don't you want me to be happy with this decision yes but selfishly I don't want you to go I get that

00:38:11 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

but it's really weird to me that all of you are like you seem like you're confident in what you're choosing to do with your life are you sure

00:38:20 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 1:

No, I just thought there would be, you know, a level of, I think any time that there's change, I get emotional about it, but I just, I don't know, I've, not that I, listen, I don't want you to, I don't want you to cry, I want you to be happy about it, but I don't think you're going to miss us.

00:38:37 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 3:

Probably not.

00:38:38 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, okay.

00:38:39 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:38:40 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 1:

You know what, honestly, that gives me peace. That gives me peace, though, knowing that, you know, that you're happy with that and that you're um you're ready and uh and you know gearing up for this and i hope that the listeners feel that same comfort too and knowing that this is uh something that megan wants to do and she wants to to get away from all this so i tell you it's just well thought out yeah that's good um so what was yesterday like for you did you get a ton of text messages and everything oh it's

00:39:09 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 3:

overwhelming i really needed to turn my phone off at some point i just couldn't deal with it but uh are you i'm confused are we talking about i'm talking in general you can talk about the

00:39:21 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 1:

topic plan but i was talking what was who was all texting you yesterday oh everybody from

00:39:26 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 3:

former co-workers to friends and family and um i guess i didn't realize how many people in my life didn't know what was going on so a lot of people were reaching out like oh yeah i didn't

00:39:37 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

tell you what was going on my bad that was a question that i had for you was i feel like when you make big announcements like the one that you made yesterday people come out of the woodwork that maybe you haven't heard from in a while or just people that you didn't know cared was there someone or some people that you heard from that you were like blown away oh

00:40:00 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No, I mean, I think the funniest thing was I have a lot of family that was like, um, so what's the plan? I was like, oh, you don't, you have no idea what's been going on in my life for a minute. Um, I'm trying to think who else reached out. A lot of people who used to be in the industry reached out. I think our industry is very unique in the fact that we all, I don't know, experience like the same life almost in a way. so a lot of people are like it's gonna be a wild ride leaving but don't worry it'll be fine in a while once you come to terms with it it'll be fine i'm like okay thanks i appreciate hearing that and then uh i think who else yeah just like a lot of loved ones which was really nice a lot a lot more people reached out than i thought would which was interesting including and i know he's probably listening right now my realtor love him he's like so are we are we buying a place oh my god never a missed opportunity do you own your house still uh i don't no you sold it to

00:41:02 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 1:

your brother i did so he he's legally on the paperwork and you got you can't get that house back from i know because i always wondered if uh if that was the case that you maybe were renting it to him and that you'll just eventually go back and move back into that house i didn't have the

00:41:16 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 3:

money for it so okay yeah i didn't know i didn't have enough money to take care of it so so is uh

00:41:24 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 1:

is uh your thoughts to live i know going back to toledo is where you want to go do you want to live in that same area or are you thinking of a whole new thing i don't think i can afford a house right

00:41:35 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 3:

now in this market so that's not the plan for quite a while unfortunately because i did buy a house i lost out on that first time home buyer like deal and yeah i don't i don't believe i will ever be able to afford a house again if it it stays the way that it is what will you do uh will

00:41:53 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

you move in with any family or are you gonna uh get an apartment right away no i have a place you have a place in you already got a place in toledo i do you already got a place in toledo how did you get didn't you resign a lease here and so how do you how does that work how does

00:42:10 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 3:

that happen staying with the same company so they're just transferring so they just transferred

00:42:14 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 1:

it was really nice yeah wow yeah i didn't even know that i had no clue that's wild well no i'm just well no but i i think it's a the listeners want to know for a minute bro i think this has been going on for a while that's probably why there was no emotions i don't know

00:42:32 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 2:

it's i i went through our whole process we just we just telling everybody at this point so yeah

00:42:37 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 1:

ain't really gonna be no emotion i think that that's the thing because i know shannon you and I had a conversation where you just felt like, man, I thought that we would at least, she would at least kind of say this. She knows this.

00:42:48 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 4:

I told her when I found out from everybody else and I was like, you bitch did not tell me that you were even contemplating this, but.

00:43:01 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you should ask Katie and Jillian, my friends, when I left Toledo to come up here. Oh, they didn't know either. Blindsided them, was moved three days later. I don't tell anybody what's going on in my life.

00:43:12 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Are you going to surprise us? Have you already moved?

00:43:15 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:43:16 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 1:

You already moved back home?

00:43:17 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:43:18 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 1:

So when did you move out of your place here?

00:43:22 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 3:

A couple weeks ago.

00:43:23 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to be quiet. I'm going to say something that might get me fired in this bitch. I'm hiring.

00:43:28 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 4:

Please don't. We can't lose anybody else.

00:43:31 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know.

00:43:31 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay?

00:43:32 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, it's you and I.

00:43:33 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 4:

So just shut up. No, I got you here, for sure.

00:43:36 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

But no, I think that that's kind of wild, though, that I'm hiring a private investigator to figure out what all the rest of you guys are doing.

00:43:43 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 4:

Do you want to know what's so funny? So you told me this like yesterday or the day before, and Megan and I share each other's location. So clearly I never check her location because even last night I had texted her a video that I found when I was looking through like old photos, you know, in anticipation of posting something. And her location very clearly said Toledo, Ohio, under Megan. which i have not noticed for however long it's been since you've moved shocked you haven't

00:44:11 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 3:

noticed shocked i literally i literally was like if anybody's gonna notice it's going to be shannon she's gonna be texting me and she's gonna see like it says toledo i didn't you never caught on

00:44:23 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 1:

i could not believe it but the amazing thing is though that i and i said this to all of you guys i knew she was i i knew she was back in toledo because every day she was going back to toledo And so I thought to myself, okay, Megan wants to go back to Toledo because she was going back so frequently that she was homesick. And I thought that that was one of those things where it was that she wasn't, uh, she wasn't in on the weekends and the weekends you weren't hanging out and doing stuff downtown Detroit or anything like that.

00:44:54 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 4:

So that actually didn't start more in Toledo. That actually didn't give me as much of a hint as I think it did.

00:45:00 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 2:

you only because I, I, I was the same way. Once you have your, your dentist, your hair person, your gynecologist, it, it really takes you a while to kind of make that, that switch. Like even when I lived in Indianapolis for college or Atlanta, I would still come home to do all of those things. We're actually going through this with my mom right now. She moved from down river up to Oakland County. She moved to Royal Oak and she's still driving down river for everything. And I had to say to her, I'm like, Mom, your life is, you know, an hour north now. It's going to be so much easier for you to just do everything here. And she can't. She can't let go.

00:45:37 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 3:

My hair person is 35 minutes away. Do you not run errands that are 35 minutes away?

00:45:42 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 1:

What are you talking about?

00:45:43 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm so lazy.

00:45:44 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

I do everything that's right around.

00:45:45 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 3:

You don't do anything outside of the city that you live in?

00:45:49 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 1:

No, but I'm saying live. Like in the mornings, I could tell that you were probably coming from a little bit further than 10 minutes down the road.

00:45:56 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I just started staying on weeknights a couple of days ago. Yesterday was the first night that I was down there.

00:46:01 - 00:46:22 | Speaker 1:

I, listen, in my heart of you missing Toledo, I felt like you missed Toledo a year and a half ago. Like, I felt like this was something that, the moment you moved to Detroit, I felt like the novelty wore off of that fast because you missed your life that you had and you missed your family.

00:46:22 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 3:

I think I love Detroit. I don't know why you think I didn't love it here. I loved it so much here. I loved the city. I mean, every time you called me, I was walking around the city. I was on the river walk. I was like, I was constantly out doing stuff and finding small businesses. And I loved all of that. Spent a lot of time in Midtown, spent a lot of time going off. Jesus, two weeks ago, I spent six hours walking around looking for a specific Walgreens. like it was just like i spent all my time walking around and going through the city i loved it um no i think that i think you guys are saying like i never spent time in detroit which is not true we also just did the math on how much people spent to stay with me in detroit which was way more money than i expected i owe people a lot of money um and then yeah i went home but you're acting like home was so far away and i never spent time here i think though that after the show was

00:47:19 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 1:

over with like when we would have uh show media and stuff you'd be like i gotta go i gotta i'm going i'm going to toledo today you were doing that so frequently as if you're you're commuting

00:47:29 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 3:

back and forth well listen i had therapy every other week and then i had um megan i i'm not

00:47:35 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 1:

trying to put you on a defensive i'm just saying i knew your heart was always in toledo and i that's that's why when you were doing this this whole thing like hey i don't uh you know i i'm gonna i get out of radio thing i was like kind of shocked by that because i thought okay maybe she'll just move back and do the show back in toledo um kind of like she had done prior where she had done it from the kiss studios and then it was no i want not just to move back there i would i want to get out of this i want to get out of the whole being on the radio and being in radio so So I think that's kind of where it was for me. But I'm happy for you. I'm so happy that you're going to do what you want to do. And I'm so happy that you're not going to have to worry about people like us asking you questions about where you were. Because guess what? Whatever you go do next, people are going to be like, hey, what's your name? How are you? What's going on? And they're not going to sit there and ask you, did you go on a date last night? Did you sleep with somebody? Did you, what do you think of this person cheating on their spouse? Hey, tell me what your thoughts are about a puff diet daddy or whatever the deal is, you know, so Ari, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. If you missed the announcement yesterday that Megan is getting out of radio and, uh, and getting out of the, the, the public eye to, to go back and live a normal life in Toledo, what's going on?

00:49:06 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Megan, I'm, I'm super excited for you, but I got to know now. when you said you were out of town or like took a vacation to help a family member move

00:49:15 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 3:

was it actually you moving it wasn't which is super unfortunate it's been a messy i asked the same question i never thought about that i asked the same question no it's been really really really messy the past couple of weeks i genuinely was super sick for like three weeks and i had there have been some aspects of relationships in my life that have not been going well for people It's been so, like, I don't think I've slept in a month. That I could cry over. I could use a good nap.

00:49:48 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 4:

I think you need to take a real vacation.

00:49:51 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 3:

It would be nice.

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Somebody text me. I did not read, and don't be offended to anybody for this. I did not read any of the comments on any of this stuff yesterday.

00:50:00 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 5:

because partially there's two reasons number one comments that are negative towards megan and one of the reasons why i believe that megan is like tired of this whole thing bother me and i don't want to have to sit there and have to argue back and forth and secondly the comments from people anytime there's a change on the show i will never listen again and it says top fan and i'm like going okay well you're obviously been a long time commenter on our stuff and i'll never listen to the show all right we'll see in about three months from now when there's somebody else sitting in a chair you know what i mean right but um so i always come back i've been listening for like 20 something years somebody texted me a comment yesterday that said megan wasn't really sick a couple weeks ago it was megan upset at tony travato and mojo and like all these people that were saying because they overworked her and that's why she lost her voice

00:50:56 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, they're not wrong, but I also did sound like this. Wait, oh wait, that might not be the right one. Hold on. Oh, no, that's not, I can find it. Here's an example of what my voice sounds like. You sound like one of them sisters from The Simpsons.

00:51:13 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 1:

So it was both. I mean, it was both. I just, uh, I love conspiracy theories when it comes to this. I really do.

00:51:21 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 5:

Koi, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:51:24 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. First of all, I'm calling to say, Megan, I'm sorry to say that you're going, but I do wish you the best of luck. Thanks, babe. No problem.

00:51:34 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 5:

Koi, are you also wondering where I'm living? Because I just want you to know that I just officially decided I'm moving to Florida full-time. It's funny. I don't know how you moved so fast. I can't believe that Megan moved as fast as this and got out of here without us even having a clue. I want more friends like you that don't ask me to help move.

00:51:55 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 2:

Didn't ask anybody. That's amazing.

00:51:58 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 5:

I mean, seriously, would you love to have a blink in the eye move like that?

00:52:02 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 2:

I wish I was a minimalist, I'll tell you that.

00:52:07 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? And I can't believe that nobody from your building, who I actually have met like two or three listeners of ours, even sold you out for using the freight elevator. Did you have to have that in your apartment where you have to, like, reserve the elevator for moving?

00:52:23 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 2:

I did. I did.

00:52:25 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 5:

Aubrielle, what's up?

00:52:27 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:52:29 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:52:31 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 3:

I just want to say I've been a rookie, Megan. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my gosh.

00:52:37 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 5:

How old are you, Aubrielle?

00:52:39 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

Ten. Oh, my gosh.

00:52:41 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 5:

Megan, you're breaking this kid's heart.

00:52:42 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 2:

I know. I've been called a heartbreaker for many years at this point, so I'll just continue that trend on my way out the door.

00:52:50 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 5:

Aubrielle, can you talk Megan into staying?

00:52:54 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Hi, Megan. I got you. Oh, my God. That's going to hurt. So the kids came home. They've been away with their dad, and they got home at, like, 11 o'clock last night, and I was tucking them into bed, and Lucy always goes, what's the tea that I missed from the week? And I said, well, I'll catch you up tomorrow, But actually, Megan announced that she's leaving the show today. And she was like, what? She was so upset.

00:53:19 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, Lucy. Savannah, you say that Megan and her move that she's doing right now relates to what you're thinking about. What's going on?

00:53:29 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I moved two hours away from my whole family. Just kind of spur of the moment for a best friend. And now I really miss my family. and I want to move back but like because my heart's there but my job's here oh that's so tough it's

00:53:43 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 2:

tough being away it's so tough it's so tough and I think uh it's hard to get that work-life balance down and then focusing on on putting roots down somewhere I think I was really lucky that I was so close to friends and family and all of that stuff because when you have such limited free time and you still have that connection to the people you care about like oh I was so lucky so lucky right i feel like i just got broken up with no not at all not at all you'll just start dating one of my best friends and then we'll put you on more of the roses oh perfect okay

00:54:18 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 5:

um savannah megan's gonna be with us for a couple of weeks so we're gonna celebrate megan celebrate this move and then hopefully maybe this is one of those situations megan where like you have said yesterday that a lot of listeners have helped you get through a lot of things maybe you doing this move in this big step will help them have the courage to do what you're doing

00:54:39 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 2:

yeah i hope so i wish more people would take care of themselves and do what's right for them i think i'm not alone in the fact that i did never i never put myself first until the past like year and a half and it changed everything man i'm i'm so i'm golden i would love some harry styles

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

golden right now good for you i don't i don't have it because i have a commercial break

00:55:00 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 6:

There's a lot of them. A lot of cars. So, your chance to win. Good luck.

00:56:17 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:56:19 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 6:

Boston a cheater coming up here in just a few moments on the Mojo in the Morning Show. And Shannon with what's going on in the dirty.

00:56:26 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 3:

Can we talk about superstar Cade Cunningham for just a moment? Where's your little point?

00:56:31 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 4:

MSG, we're just leading at 64-53. Brunton put it up high. Knocked out of there by Townsend, right to Cunningham. That's saucy Cade Cunningham.

00:56:42 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 3:

33 points, 12 rebounds, giving us a win against the Knicks for game two of the playoffs, which means the series now heads to Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night, which hasn't hosted a Pistons playoff game since 2019.

00:56:55 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 4:

Brunton gets it in. Caught by Towns. Brunton will fire. And that's it. The Pistons end the longest losing streak in NBA playoff history. They win their first postseason game since 2008.

00:57:11 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 3:

How excited are you, Kev, to be at LCA on Thursday?

00:57:14 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm incredibly excited. I mean, outside of the fact that, obviously, what I'd do for the team, but just to be a Detroiter, to have basketball as my favorite sport, to go through all the years of just being down. I mean, there were people literally wearing trash bags on their hair last year. I don't think people understand how bad we were last year. I think we won, it was either 14 or 18 games last year. And we've tripled the amount of win totals over the course of the season. That's unheard of. Biggest turnaround in sports, by the way.

00:57:44 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 3:

People were wearing trash bags, like fans at LCA. Why are you paying for a ticket if you're going to do that?

00:57:49 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 2:

Because a lot of our season ticket holders, it happened with the Lions. Remember when they were on the stands with the paper bags over their faces? They're all 16 years. I'm embarrassed to be a season ticket holder.

00:57:59 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 5:

You used to hear the chant, sell the tickets. Yeah, I remember that. All right, man. And to see where we are today is incredible.

00:58:04 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 6:

What's the turnaround? Is the turnaround a new GM? Is the turnaround a new coach? What is the turnaround?

00:58:09 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 5:

I think it's all that. I think the best system is a belief system, and I think we believed once we had this new energy. There was a new perspective. There was a new outlook. There was, like, possibility. And sometimes you just need to clean house and get some new energy, man, and that new energy just brings about a change. And I think health played a role. I think leadership played a role. We got a lot of new free agents, a lot of veteran players who've had success throughout their entire careers and are able to show a young team that has lost a lot, like, hey, it does get better. Yeah.

00:58:41 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 3:

This morning, the world continues to pay tribute to Pope Francis, who passed away yesterday at the age of 88. His death certificate, released by the Vatican overnight, died of a stroke that prompted a coma and then irreversible heart failure.

00:58:59 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Thousands of Catholics gathered last night for a prayer of the rosary in St. Peter's Square, joining people around the world in mourning for Pope Francis. Today, cardinals from around the world are expected to gather in Rome, deciding on dates for the pope's funeral, generally taking place within a week. The cardinals also deciding on when to begin the conclave to elect a new pope, which usually begins 15 to 20 days after the pope's death. The Vatican saying Francis died yesterday morning after suffering a stroke and heart failure. The Pope hospitalized for weeks with double pneumonia earlier this year, but he recovered, and on Easter Sunday, he appeared in St. Peter's Square, touring the crowds in the Popemobile. He is the Pope of the people, and also the Pope of great surprises. Just like his death, it was a great surprise.

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 5:

Pope Francis was known for making the Catholic Church more inclusive. Once replying, who am I to judge when asked about the possibility of a gay priest?

01:00:08 - 01:00:20 | Speaker 3:

His legacy is one of care for the environment, his big encyclical Laudato Si really made it a spiritual question. I also think just as we saw, someone who is humble and compassionate and that people liked.

01:00:20 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 5:

Some potential contenders to replace Pope Francis are from his inner circle, including cardinal tagal of the philippines known for his similar sense of humor and progressive views other possibilities include italian cardinal pizabala the vatican's top official for middle east affairs and cardinal parolin also an italian who was francis's second in command and the vatican's secretary of state a more conservative candidate is cardinal sarah a former vatican official from guinea who's been critical of same-sex couples if he were to get in he'd be And by the way, the first African-American.

01:00:55 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:00:56 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 4:

Pope Francis himself. Who will they choose? Someone like him? Someone who chose to shine a light on the margins?

01:01:01 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 1:

It's like the NBA draft, but in the Vatican.

01:01:03 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Those who are most vulnerable or marginalized in our society. It is kind of interesting.

01:01:07 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 2:

Do they play the music that the NFL draft plays whenever the Pope is chosen?

01:01:12 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 4:

When they vote.

01:01:15 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 5:

President Trump says he and the First Lady will attend Francis' funeral. He's a very good man who loved the world. A public viewing for France's tomorrow, and according to his wishes, he'll be buried in a simple coffin, not in the Vatican, but in Rome's Basilica of St. Mary Major. He'll be the first pope buried outside the Vatican in more than a century.

01:01:37 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 2:

Did you see him in his gasket? They showed it this morning on Today Show and Good Morning America. they showed the you know just picture of him in a very simple wooden coffin like it's not how it should be anything well i mean you know you got the uh the the fanciness of sometimes i mean i've been to funerals of family members and stuff like that the casket costs a lot of money but nobody wants to get nobody wants to get buried in just a plain old box but i will tell you that uh this is amazing as a catholic you know i've seen this only a couple of times uh because we had a pope for such a long time with John Paul, and then Pope Francis, Benedict, and he quit. So, interesting.

01:02:17 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 1:

Justin Bieber, have you guys seen this Bieber video from this weekend of Coachella? Well, there's two. There's one of him just, you hate to assume, it looks as though he is on some sort of substance, and he's, like, rocking, and he's, like, something is very wrong, it is not normal. So a lot of fans are very, very concerned after seeing that one. And then, and I meant to talk about that during the show yesterday and it totally slipped my mind. But then after the show, I saw a video going around of Justin smoking a joint next to his teenage brother at one of the shows. And he's like dancing and he's hanging out with buddies. He's taking hits from a blunt and his younger brother, Jackson, who I believe is like 15 years old, is standing right next to him. And people are talking about this video because it's Haley Bieber that you see coming up to Jackson, putting her hands on his shoulders and steering him away from Justin and out of the crowd. Yeah. Can I ask a question, though? What? If Justin was drinking a beer next to his 15-year-old brother, would anybody be upset? I know. I think that that video on the heels of the other video that we saw going around first, you're like, okay, is there more to this video than we know of that was happening? And then also telling, maybe, I don't know, but it was noticeable and noticed that Hailey Bieber posted photos with Jack, with her baby, on Easter and nothing with her husband.

01:03:46 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 2:

Lydia? Well, prayers for Justin Bieber. He's going to be joining the Pope soon if he doesn't watch himself. I'm worried about him. Truth.

01:03:55 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, a quick shout out to SZA this morning. SOS has surpassed Adele's 21 for the most weeks spent in the Billboard Top 10 among albums by women. That is a huge feat. SOS just matched its 85th non-consecutive week in the Top 10 on the chart.

01:04:11 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

So, congrats.

01:04:14 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 1:

At Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty of the 30.

01:04:25 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

I make myself crack up thinking of Shani's granny getting excited about SZA.

01:04:30 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's kind of funny because whenever we were recording a lot of those songs, there were some that she really liked and others. She was like, this is stupid.

01:04:40 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 2:

These lyrics are stupid. Oh, gosh. All right. We're going to give away a car. May the 2nd is when that big day is. Amanda's going to be that person that's going to be trying for it. Amanda, you're a winner. Yeah.

01:04:53 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, I don't know where you're driving right now, but it's...

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Got a little bit of a spotty cell connection, but don't worry. We got you. You're in. Congratulations to you.

01:05:05 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. I'm so excited. I can barely stand it right now.

01:05:09 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's incredible. Hold on one second. Where are you from? What town are you from?

01:05:13 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 4:

Chesterfield, Michigan.

01:05:14 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on one second. We'll get you set up. Brand new car, Moran Chevrolet. Hold on the line for one second.

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Thank you.

01:05:22 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome. All right. Time for War of the Roses. Busting cheaters here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. if you think you're being cheated on text cheater to 95500 catching cheaters and proud of it

01:05:33 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 3:

it's your home for war the roses on mojo in the morning erica thinks her boyfriend is cheating

01:05:39 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 2:

erica how long have you guys been together eight years eight years and it's also something interesting is that eight years and you've been waiting for him to propose and now you are starting to think that there's somebody else in his life why is that so i found a condom on his

01:06:03 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 4:

in his car and i kind of confronted him about it like a like an unused condom yeah yes and you guys use condoms we do but i thought it was really weird like why would he have it in his car just

01:06:22 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

like one condom usually you guys if you guys are going to use condoms like you guys have them together it's like you think that he's just keeping it in his car for somebody else yeah we

01:06:35 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 4:

have them in our bedroom is it the same kind of condoms that you normally use yeah yeah it is the

01:06:43 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 1:

same so i'm assuming you asked him about it and what did he say

01:06:46 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 4:

he said that he was trying he wanted to try new things with me maybe having sex in new places and um which i found really strange because he's never mentioned that to me before

01:07:01 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 2:

i think that it seems like it could be a possibility that this is the case i think i'd be a little bit more suspicious of him if it was a different condom or if it was, you know, something else besides this. But that's all you're going off of? Or is there anything else that you haven't told us about?

01:07:26 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, he did cheat, like, at the beginning when we first started going out.

01:07:32 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 2:

Eight years ago when you guys got together?

01:07:35 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:07:36 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And do you believe that it was, you know, something that at that time, because you obviously went eight years of being together and haven't thought anything. Do you think maybe this is something that he's just been good about covering up for himself and covering his tracks?

01:07:50 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 4:

I haven't really doubted him. And like the last eight years, I didn't think that he had done anything else. I have no reason to think that he's lied to me or cheated to me in the last eight years. But to me, it's really strange. Yeah.

01:08:05 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. I want you to do us a favor and mute your phone. We're hoping that the flowers go to Erica. Stay there. Do not say a word, though, okay, until we say something to you.

01:08:20 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:08:21 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 2:

All right, mute the phone. Where are the roses?

01:08:36 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Hello.

01:08:37 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm looking for Liam.

01:08:41 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, this is he.

01:08:45 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Liam. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from a new floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have like 30 seconds? I heard you groan. It'll take 30 seconds, and it is totally free flowers. It's a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be shipped out as early as today anywhere in the country and totally free of charge. I'm not going to ask you for credit card information or anything. That is just a free promotion to get the word out about our new business.

01:09:11 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to take my information or anything?

01:09:14 - 01:09:14 | Unknown:

Nope.

01:09:15 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 1:

Nope. It really is easy. And like I said, it'll take about 30 seconds, depending on how fast you can answer two questions.

01:09:22 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 3:

All right.

01:09:23 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Liam?

01:09:28 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 4:

I have not.

01:09:29 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? i do not okay that's all i needed from you and as a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey i am now authorized to provide you with that dozen roses and so i just know first and a last name of who you'd like to send some flowers to today and then i'll get the

01:09:48 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

phone number right after that okay okay um tell you what why don't you send them to reagan um

01:10:00 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And a telephone number? Okay. And her relationship to you?

01:10:19 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 3:

Just that she's a woman I know.

01:10:22 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And confirming that a dozen red roses is okay?

01:10:27 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what you're sending. That's fine.

01:10:30 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And Liam, we do something unique at rosesbloom.com. And instead of sending a card with the flowers, I'm going to have you record a voice memo. So when the flowers get delivered a little bit later on this afternoon, Reagan's going to get a text alerting her that she has a delivery. And then she's going to be able to play this voice memo and know that it's from you. So whatever you would write on a card, maybe even a little longer than that, you can just go ahead and record. And I'm going to count you down here. All right. uh three two one

01:11:03 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 3:

from liam

01:11:07 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 4:

okay liam did you want to include a message an actual message or that's all you wanted to put on there uh yeah i'm good okay i also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that yeah sure

01:11:27 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

and Liam I'm going to come on just to wrap up everything and then we're going to send those flowers off but I got to just take two more seconds of your time from you and let you know that while you've been sending flowers your girlfriend Erica has been listening in and just heard you send them to another woman

01:11:48 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 3:

excuse me

01:11:50 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 1:

Liam this is the Mojo in the Morning radio show and your girlfriend Erica called us up because she wanted us to see who you had sent a dozen free roses to and you just sent flowers to another woman. Is it somebody that you are in a relationship with besides her?

01:12:16 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 3:

No, no. She's just someone I know, but I don't have a relationship with her.

01:12:21 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 4:

but you would choose to send her flowers over your girlfriend

01:12:27 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 3:

and there's no relationship there no there's no relationship there nothing going on there

01:12:36 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 1:

what do you think about that erica i think that's bullshit

01:12:43 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 2:

i think it's total bullshit i found that condom in your car you think like i'm stupid like really yeah well i think this is bull because you got caught in a lie no it's just this is bull you just got caught why don't you just tell me do you know who that is erica do you know who

01:13:12 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 1:

you don't know who that girl is i have no idea Liam who who is Liam you hung up the phone

01:13:34 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 3:

Cheater Cheater Pumpkin Eater Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses Join the discussion now 844-MOJO-LIVE.

01:13:45 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 2:

844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:14:05 - 01:14:16 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. eight years is a long time to be in a relationship with someone and the relationship not to take to

01:14:16 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 4:

the next level or at least be talking about that it also blows my mind how many times guys will send the flowers to just some random person at work and not think that that's a big deal yeah

01:14:29 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 1:

yeah do we know that they're who this person is or do we know who this random person is because

01:14:33 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 4:

honestly i i think oh you're right i'm just assuming work right i'm but you know what i'm saying like to a random person and be like oh she's you know just somebody i know find find out

01:14:43 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 1:

uh lydia let's find out who this uh person is if there's a somebody that knows anybody that his name is reagan that has been hanging out with an ethan you got to call us up because sometimes that's where we end up getting the uh the details uh what's up it's mojo in the morning Melissa wants to make a comment. What's going on, Melissa?

01:15:03 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. So my comment is after eight years, you're still using protection with your girlfriend. That's a red flag for me right there. Interesting.

01:15:12 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 7:

Why?

01:15:14 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 5:

Because to me, if you're going to use other protection, a guy who wants to use protection, it takes away a lot of the pleasure. No, it doesn't. Yes, it does.

01:15:24 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 7:

No, it does. You know what the pleasure for me is not getting pregnant. That pleasure is the peace of mind. There's other ways for that. I know somebody who's gotten pregnant on every other method. And let me tell you, I'm on birth control, and I still require him to wear a condom. A condom? You're 100% safe.

01:15:44 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

Condoms can break, and my birth control can be wrong. That actually doesn't strike me as odd as the fact that they've been together for eight years, and there's no talk of another step in the relationship.

01:15:56 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 1:

That strikes me as more odd, but it also strikes me as odd is that his excuse to why the condoms are suddenly after eight years in the car is because he would like to explore more interesting forms of sex, right?

01:16:11 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 2:

He just put some party favors in there just in case, because we all know how prepared guys are.

01:16:15 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm going to put one. By the way, one of them. That's all he wanted to do was one time, because he had one condom in the car. Don't you think it's weird, though, that they don't do it in the car? uh honestly i think cars is uncomfortable to have uh relations and to bake cookies and i disagree with you there cars are not fun you don't drive the kind of cars i drive they've got you got a way bigger cars than i don't i don't like that uh what's up uh lara what's up hey good morning

01:16:43 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 6:

so i was thinking um with the condom thing as well um he probably is sleeping with other women and maybe just doesn't want to pass anything along or potentially have a kid, you know, because he's wearing protection.

01:16:57 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's probably the case, is that at least he's wearing protection so he's not carrying any kind of diseases or anything like that to, you know, to her or to Erica.

01:17:10 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 6:

Well, okay, you've got to think about it like this. If you gave your significant other an STD, they'd know instantaneously you were cheating on that. They would know right away.

01:17:18 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 1:

I agree with you on that, but I also say thank God that he's not trying to get her, you know, infected with somebody else.

01:17:27 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 8:

It ain't even about getting her infected. He don't want to get infected himself.

01:17:31 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, that too. But at least he's a responsible cheater. Let's give him credit for that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is there, or are we looking for just the topic here, A red flag in the fact that they've been together for eight years and there has not been any kind of more of a commitment. Eight years is a long time, folks. That is two years shy of 10 years. What's going on, Vicki?

01:17:58 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you can totally hear him start to say yeah when she asks, do you think I'm stupid?

01:18:05 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 2:

The stuff that you guys pick up that we don't when we're recording them is so brilliant.

01:18:10 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 1:

i applaud you for discovering that hey vicky do you think eight years is a long time without a

01:18:18 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 4:

more committed relationship oh yeah oh yeah that's way too long yeah some people don't want to be married bro that's it which which is very true you don't want to be married but if you're dating with the intention of marriage eight years is too long because you know what eight years says to me commitment yeah some people are i literally just had this conversation

01:18:37 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 8:

maybe about a week ago with a young lady that I'm not dating. She was a friend and we were around a group of friends and it came up and she said, as long as we're locked in together and I know you're my person, putting a ring on my finger doesn't change anything. For her, in her mind, she said it only creates more financial problems and a whole bunch of other stuff. But if we can stay committed in this relationship and know that I'm with you, you're with me, that's all I need. Hi, Allison. What's going on?

01:19:03 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's definitely a red flag. After eight years, yeah. After one year, we getting engaged, boo-kid, and then the next year, we getting married. I ain't saying that. Hey, no. Are you single? I am single. I was going to tell you that, too, last time I called.

01:19:19 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, why does he always have to pinpoint this? He's profiling you, Allison. He shouldn't be doing that.

01:19:26 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 8:

Time lines is a little tight.

01:19:29 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Allison, if you found a lone condom in your guy's car when you guys never are going into the car to go do this, or you're not moving.

01:19:39 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 3:

Get the bail money.

01:19:43 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 1:

Question for you. I've never asked this question of anybody. How would you kill him? I've been watching Dateline NBCs lately. It's all antifreeze. Everybody uses antifreeze to kill their spouse.

01:19:55 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 2:

It's couch-y now. It's a different one. After eight years, I'm torturing. Trust me.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

After a year, if you give.

01:20:00 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea and I watched two episodes of Dateline NBC back-to-back, and they were both antifreeze, and I said to her, I go, I'm going to O-O-O-O-Reilly.

01:20:11 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 6:

Listen, it doesn't matter. They check for that on the toxicology now. That's not a good way. I was about to say, it does not matter how you do it. You just got to get rid of the body. No body?

01:20:20 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 2:

No grime? I will say this, though. Yeah. I have seen movies where they take, like, pliers and peel off the fingernail. Oh, yes. I do kind of want to do that a little bit.

01:20:29 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 1:

Samantha, what's up? Hi.

01:20:31 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 6:

I just chose torture. What's going on, Samantha?

01:20:34 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, not much. Me and my husband didn't get married until after we had been together for 10 years, and we've now been together for 18. And I still have him use protection, even though my tubes are tied, because I know two people whose tubes reattached, and they got pregnant like 10 years after. Okay. They were well-grown.

01:20:55 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 1:

Why tie your tubes then? Were you doing them for medical reasons? or because i would at that point why why go through the surgery none of them work we have

01:21:03 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 4:

to do something because you guys won't wear condoms i think i had c-section so i was already yeah table so i said go ahead and time a lot of women do that yeah by the way the worst thing ever

01:21:14 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 1:

is getting a for a guy don't ever get vasectomies i'm against vasectomies it completely screws you

01:21:20 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 6:

up as a guy to get a vasectomy but you don't care that a woman's on hormones for all of her life i

01:21:25 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 1:

I would rather wear protection and wear good old-fashioned, you know, condoms. Pull out. What's that? No, that never works. In the driveway. Yes, it does. It does never work. What's going on, Ann? Hi, Ann.

01:21:40 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Okay, one pull-out method. Not effective. Thank you. My husband and I now, but we met at 20, and he knew that I didn't want a long engagement. So if he was planning on proposing, it needed to be at a time in our lives where we were financially stable to have the wedding that we wanted. And so we prioritized other things first. People thought we were crazy, but we bought a house together at 23, both of our names on it. We were not married. We knew that we wanted to be together, but we were prioritizing different things first. We went on big vacations. We had fun. And then at 29, we got married, and now we're 35. So we've been together for 15 years now. I don't think that it was a red flag at all. it was just what we agreed on yeah so so i don't think if you both agree on it it's not it's not a sign that something's wrong with the relationship well i think also the other thing

01:22:29 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 1:

problem in this relationship is they don't talk about it like erica erica brought it up more with us than she probably did with him probably and and i think that that's just and and communication

01:22:40 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 5:

is so key in any relationship and if you can't talk about things like that with your partner

01:22:45 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 1:

you shouldn't be with them but this is also an intuition situation too where her you know intuitive side aside from the condom was hey he has cheated before on me in the past and this seems like he's doing something a little shady right now all right war of the roses

01:22:58 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

01:25:39 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 4:

got other things going on. I'm sorry. You're done with that.

01:25:43 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 2:

Megan will not be there so a lot of people were upset by that. I didn't think about that. And if anybody does want to turn in or to not have their tickets because Megan's not going to be there because some people have said that. There are people that want tickets. Absolutely. So if you want to sell your tickets uh or get a refund back on that thing um contact lydia and we'll work it out because we got people that that want tickets but some people were like i which is also wild because the rest of

you are going to be there and it's for charity that's insane well there's what's up though

01:26:10 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 2:

there's some people though that you know always look for an opportunity to uh to say hey you know what no i don't want to do that and megan you're a favorite to a lot of people so totally understand that and if that's the case that's fine we because we do have a waiting list of people that have asked for tickets to go to the uh the podcast we will talk about this and we'll talk about the changes on the show too there's been a lot of changes yeah so there's so that's one of the things that people will get you know there's been a lot of changes on this radio we've been on the air for 25 years and i mentioned that megan leaving the show is uh the 12th person to leave in 25 years i don't think that that's a huge amount of people not i think matter of fact i was talking to uh this morning to don anthony from morning show boot camp uh don anthony was texting me and he said to me he goes wow he goes i know you just had you know uh kp uh leave the show and then now megan leave the show he goes wow that's and i said to him i go don we've only had 12 uh full-time staff members that doesn't count uh for interns and and stuff like that or misfits you know that over the years have unfortunately died or have left um on their own accord but um but don's like wow that's unbelievable he said you know there's other shows that are out there that only been on for like five years and gone through like 17 cast changes so yes everybody don't have that

01:27:29 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 1:

perspective though uh i mean like don has the perspective of understanding quote-unquote what the industry is and what the standard of interchangeable parties have just from a normal citizen listening it's like damn 12 but well think about this and this is something i don't

01:27:43 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

think people sometimes uh view because they look at this as as different because this is part of your routine but also going to starbucks is a part of your routine how many times have you gone to a starbucks and it's a different person that's you know there and behind the counter and you're like well what happened to so-and-so yeah they either got transferred to another store or they're

01:28:01 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 1:

no longer there anymore so that's how i used to be at quicken just all all of a sudden on the Tuesday, you get an email, if you see so-and-so walking through the building, make sure they have a business. They would actually say, if you see so-and-so, they'd send an email off. Yeah, send an email off. You've been promoted to a borrower now, or they've been promoted to a client. That used to be like a little running joke. Wait, that was how they would refer to it? Well, I mean, I was just like.

01:28:24 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you guys would refer to it that way. That's fine. You are now a listener. Yeah, exactly. Wow. I do have to tell you something that, to me, seemed kind of cold. and I guess it's the nature of the beast, right? People want jobs. Yesterday I had five people after Megan made the announcement that she is leaving radio and she's going to not do this industry anymore and she's going to go back to Toledo and move back there and do a quote-unquote non-radio job or regular job, whatever it is, however you say it. She's going to do something more, honestly, appealing to your sleeping in in the morning. Let's just put it that way. people have been reaching out wanting to come and work with us i had five starting this morning six people i had an email this morning right when i first came in of people that have said are you replacing the position and i'm like i hate to say this and i hate to put it this way but the body is not even cold i mean i mean what are you guys doing bold but i feel like i'd

01:29:28 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

probably do the same thing I'm not gonna lie yes because this business is I don't even really love the word cutthroat but there are so there are only so many opportunities available that number is slashed by a very high percentage when you qualify it and say there are only so many good healthy morning show opportunities available and this is a show that people Megan said it yesterday really aspire to be on so I can understand.

01:30:00 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

a spot opens up on this show and we are all blessed to be a part of the show and people I would jump at that opportunity if I was already not on the show. You say it's like I applaud those people, but I want to know who they are because if I don't want to work with them, just forget about them. You say more in the show boot camp kind of like Jesus walking through Jerusalem and they're throwing palms at your feet. No, that's such bullshit. Lydia, you can attest to this. No, it's not. People like get out of the way for Mojo and then bow.

01:30:28 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 3:

No, it's a load of crap. Stop that. Stop it. Remember, I am a two-time loser of the Radio Hall of Fame. You got nominated, though. Here we go. Let me tell you. So this is one of them. This is one of the people that reached out and said, Mojo, Mojo, I've been a listener for a long time. Recently noticed that you've had a change on your show, and I wanted to shoot my shot. I would love for an opportunity to work for you and your team in any capacity. So this, honestly, is somebody that's not in the radio business but has a huge resume of things, only 28 years old and somebody that has done already in 28 years some amazing stuff. And then the one that was weird for me, and I want to ask this question. This is the topic I'd like to get into with this. I would like to ask the question, how soon after you quit your job did somebody already want your job? Or how soon after you got fired did somebody already step up and say, I'm taking your job? Does that happen in other businesses? If so, call and tell me 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548. One of the people that reached out to me yesterday, and I will not say who they are, works for one of the big I heart radio morning shows. And when they reached out yesterday, they said, Hey, I want to do this totally on the down low and I'll do it through all of the proper means by talking to, and they mentioned Brad Harden and Tom and those guys. And they said, but I've always wanted to work, you know, on your show, but also I'm a native of Detroit. And I was like, I didn't know clue that they were a native of. I'm trying to think of if I know. I don't think you will, but you'll know the show. So, yeah, I will. I will. I will. I'll send it to you.

01:32:14 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 2:

I'm so.

01:32:15 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 3:

But they but they reached out yesterday and I thought to myself, I'm like, all right, here's the deal. We're going to have you go through the Megan sniff test. Megan's going to tell you every good and bad thing about this job. And if you last through a phone call of her telling you all the good and the bad stuff, then if you still want this opportunity, we'll see. But Christina, what's going on?

01:32:40 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning, guys. Good morning.

01:32:41 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 3:

What's happening?

01:32:44 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Is it too soon to nominate someone for the position?

01:32:47 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it is too soon to nominate. Who are you trying to nominate?

01:32:50 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, Misfit Victor.

01:32:53 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, is this his wife, Christina, that is nominating him?

01:32:57 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, not his wife. But I've been a fan of years, so I just came to my head listening to you guys when you brought up the subject. So I was like, wait a minute. What about Ms. Fivick?

01:33:09 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Is he right there with you? Is he in the room with you?

01:33:13 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 1:

He actually has a gun to my head.

01:33:17 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 3:

By the way, we've never had a, we should have an, One of the things that I told Tony is I don't want to rush to do anything because I think the problem with rushing to do something is I was not prepared for Megan to leave. You know, that never happens. You never have that happen. There's no backup and all that stuff of what's going on. And I said to Tony, I go, here's the thing. I think we've got to take our time. We're coming up on summer. Summer is going to be one of those things where I think we're good with what we've got going on.

01:33:49 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 2:

But I also don't want to lose the position, which sometimes in this business, you know, the company will go, well, you know, we can do that after like a week.

01:34:03 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 3:

Zach can do 12 more jobs, you know what I mean? Like one of those type of things. So I so I don't want to do that. But I also said to him, I go, we've never on the show. I've never done a nationwide search. Like I've never, ever. The only time I ever kind of did it was when Chad left and in between Chad and our next producer, I did do, I brought somebody in and I brought her in from, you know, Atlanta and I had a consultant that found her. So I never did that before.

01:34:32 - 01:34:34 | Speaker 2:

But you were still looking within the business.

01:34:34 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 3:

I was. I want to look out of it. I wanted this to be an out of the thing. Like I don't want it to become a situation where we end up bringing somebody in hastily. um and also i'd like to see if we can have somebody that represents either grand rapids or

01:34:48 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

toledo too so like in my dad i i was talking to my dad yesterday the legend himself and he he was like i saw on your social media that megan's leaving

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 7:

And he gave you such a good compliment. He's like, I don't know who's going to be able to fill her shoes. Tim, you're the best. I think he's more upset about losing his best friend, Scott McDonough. That could be part of it. That's a big part of it.

01:35:13 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 6:

You know what's interesting, though, about that? Nobody has ever replaced somebody and filled the shoes. Yep. They've all done something different. Yeah. Like, you are totally different than Sarah or Kyra.

01:35:24 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 7:

Mm-hmm.

01:35:26 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 6:

Kevin, totally different than Spike. Mm-hmm. Yep. And Megan, honestly, totally different than any of the other, you know, people that have been on the show. Sarah, Kyra, you know, so whatever. Different than you, Shan.

01:35:38 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:35:39 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 6:

And I think that's the beauty of this show is as time goes on, the only consistent and constant is the fat guy running the control board.

01:35:47 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 5:

The board out. I will say this, though. In terms of the body being called and people hitting you up, I've heard this before where they say success moves at the speed of opportunity. And you got to be quick sometimes. Because if you don't take action, that window may close every second.

01:36:04 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 7:

That's what I'm saying. I don't fault these people for reaching out to you right after Megan made her announcement.

01:36:09 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Summer, how soon after you, did you quit or get fired?

01:36:16 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 1:

I was fired.

01:36:17 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 6:

Wait a second. You got fired and what happened?

01:36:21 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 1:

I was actually training the person that took my job.

01:36:27 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 5:

That's all the time.

01:36:28 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 6:

that's why you can't get them all the sauce did you know you were training your replacement

01:36:33 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 1:

no i didn't i thought that because i was a college student at the time and so they needed someone that was had a little more open availability and so i was working you know in between classes and so i would train her when i came in i was sure you know what i would do and things like that and then one day i came in and you know they fired me and so like i still had to go to the place you know to deal with certain things because it was like kind of like a campus job i went to michigan state so it was in east lansing and so um when i went ahead and went to take care of this business i thought that she had taken my job that she had my seat my spot everything she was doing my job oh my god first time long time

01:37:15 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 6:

that is by the way that's cruel and that does happen i'm telling you a lot what's up barb how you doing hey i'm doing great how are you we're good barb we're talking about uh people jumping on uh this whole situation with megan and not even letting megan just uh get her two weeks of being

01:37:36 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 2:

with us well mine's a little different i work at a nursing home and as soon as somebody dies there's a patient that says can i have their wheelchair

01:37:45 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 5:

just like supreme over the others good wheelchairs are hard to find in the nursing home a good one's

01:38:03 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 2:

really hard to find so when you get one everybody wants it so is it the cushion is it the wheels

01:38:08 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 5:

What's going on with these wheelchairs?

01:38:12 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 2:

Some of them just look nicer and, you know, propel better and have higher seats and nicer armrests and footrests. That's amazing.

01:38:21 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 6:

Next time I'm around a wheelchair, I'm going to go sit in it. Excuse me. Get up out of that thing. I want to sit in it. What's up, Nick? Hi, how you doing? We're good, buddy. What's going on?

01:38:31 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

Hey, yeah. So I, you know, I was telling all my coworkers that I put my notice in and I was leaving. And within an hour, one of my coworkers was asking how to get my position. But she was not qualified whatsoever. But, you know, I'm always going to help people. I'm going to, you know, raise them up. So I helped her, you know, try to get the job and thinking, oh, they're never going to give it to her. And they did. And that business is falling apart.

01:38:59 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 6:

But isn't it a little sense of satisfaction? Isn't that kind of the thing?

01:39:03 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 7:

i don't want anybody like i don't think you want people to fail oh i think it's one thing i think it's one thing if you are like let go from your dream job or whatever but if you're moving on then you want it to be on let everybody let everyone move on see and people don't think

01:39:20 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 6:

megan's nice she is nice look at that i think that's beautiful that you said that i'm kidding what's going on brian how you doing brian how are you hi brian hey guys how's it going Good morning. What's going on?

01:39:34 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning. First of all, first time, long, long, long time.

01:39:37 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Brian on the phone.

01:39:40 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I had a question more about all these talk about replacements. I wonder, so what is everyone's job on the show? It seems like I've got an army of folks, but what is everyone doing? That's a great point.

01:39:51 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 6:

If you figure it out, will you tell us?

01:39:55 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

I try to figure it out. I'm listening, and I'm like, well, it seems like some people have technical jobs.

01:40:00 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 3:

you know social media jobs some people are just there for personality some people got to give us

01:40:04 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 1:

weather and dirty so it's interesting we all have roles on the show but after the show is over with there's also things that we do too and there are things Megan Megan's job was not just on this show but she was also uh the uh assistant to Tony the program director here so she did a lot of the programming you know uh dirty work so to speak where she had to do things that were post 10 30 in the morning and us being on the air on our detroit station so there's those things and then there are those like kev who really do nothing but just sit there and crack the mic listen honestly the beauty of radio is that you may have job titles and you may have some responsibilities but the beauty of radio is every day you get to go to work and you get to do something that you're passionate about and when you're passionate about it you love it and when you're not passionate about it you don't love it and it becomes a job and when it becomes a job is when you got to do whatever you know you're you know you're doing you know and and I listen I don't know necessarily that Megan you're not passionate about this anymore but I definitely think that there's been a little bit of uh you know what I'm ready for something new and I and i always said that that was when i was going to retire and i'm getting no i'm just getting close to it no i'm happy i like this i actually tony said to me the other day he goes he uh when uh after uh had megan and he goes uh-oh another situation here and to be frankly and honest with you shannon and i's contracts up at the end of the year oh we are done december 31st yeah and so Y'all going to re-sign? Breaking news. I told Tony this makes me even more passionate because it makes me want to go, I want to leave with our show in a great spot, and our show is great right now. We are, believe it or not, number one in ratings. Okay. And I want us to be in a position where, like, the baton gets passed, so to speak, and it gets to move on to something else and somebody else. so now we got to uh you know to to figure this all out because we got everybody kind of changing up a little bit so and uh and you know what uh what was your name again brian yeah is that brian that's me yeah hi brian fill out your applications and send it to tony travato i'm telling it tony travato i heart i'm looking up the address i don't know the address here i heard detroit 2529 Orleans Street Detroit, Michigan 48207 You just flooded this guy So if anybody's listening to us on the podcast Don't hit me up Because I got no say so on this Tony Travato's got the say so on this Alright, well thank you for the call

01:43:03 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 1:

Misfit Victor Did you put that girl up to calling on? yeah who is that girl speaking of greatness how are you guys good morning morning victor victor did you put that girl christina up to to calling in no no i i heard about it because i

01:43:22 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 3:

would get nominations people call me left and right things like that you had one nomination

01:43:28 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 2:

i think so i like scanned the comments yesterday and somebody nominated you online in a comment yesterday as well victor i nominate victor thank you very much thank you very much guys and and

01:43:40 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 3:

Megan, you know, believe it or not, I know you won't believe me, but it is sad to see you go, but I wish you the best. You know, one person used to tell me, if you plant a strawberry tree and blueberries come out, it probably wasn't a strawberry tree. So just remember that when you move on. What does that mean? What does that mean? I don't know what it means. I have no idea, but that's just what he used to tell me all the time.

01:44:05 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 1:

The guy told you that, so that was his famous words. All right. Yes.

01:44:09 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 3:

Let's remember that. But I do wish her the best. And like I said, do I start that following Monday or?

01:44:18 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm sorry, but we have to go through a hiring process here, Victor. And as far as I'm concerned, the problem is you cannot get hired because we understand that you've slept with the boss. So there's no.

01:44:31 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 3:

Can I bring my Jesus statue? Yes, exactly.

01:44:36 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 1:

That's true. If you do.

01:44:37 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 2:

I have one on my desk now, too.

01:44:38 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if you do come here, you'll, yeah. All right. And I'll bring pancake mix. Oh, thank you. All right. Thank you. Now he's trying to bribe Shannon. All right, we'll see you.

01:44:46 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 3:

A string of horrible decisions and bad hires led us to this. Sorry, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:44:54 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Kev, you had a moment with...

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 4:

Josiah, and it was funny because you called me and were talking to me last night on the phone, and you were telling me that you kind of felt bad over something that you said to Josiah, your son. Sometimes I

01:45:11 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 3:

feel like I'm too hard on Josiah, and I don't know where I get that from. I don't know if I'm compensating, because at Josiah's age right now was the time that, when I was his age, my dad wasn't there because he was incarcerated. So I don't know subconsciously if I'm trying to parent him the way that I wanted to be parented or how I think a father should raise his son not just a parent but a father should raise his son and I think sometimes I'm tired so I think I lack patience when it comes to Josiah in certain areas or I think because he's so intelligent so charismatic that I think he should just have that intelligence over every area of his life and not just scholastically and I had a moment where I wanted Josiah to start doing chores and the chore that I had as a child was to clean the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms I had to wash the tubs clean the mirrors off, do the sinks get the toilet, sweep and mop and I got an allowance and I wanted to extend that same opportunity of doing chores to Josiah and give him some responsibility extend the opportunity and give him that blessing and I think that doing chores at a young age has many different benefits and it gives you some type of ownership in this house that you don't pay for that you don't buy anything you don't have any bills you just get the lay of the land it's got to be more to life than roblox and josiah oh i'm sorry hold on what you doing

01:46:39 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 4:

over there bro i'm trying to find the song from annie it's a hard knock line you want me to wait No, no, go ahead. Because that, by the way, is what I'm thinking of with Josiah.

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 3:

But I'll let the cheesy version.

01:46:51 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 4:

He's the Annie of the orphanage here.

01:46:56 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 3:

He's really not, though, bruh. And it got to a point where I had to, like, I don't know if he was joking or if he was for real, but he didn't know how to, like, hold a broom the right way. And some of the things, I was getting extremely frustrated. And instead of, like, being a part of this moment with him and understanding that this is his first time doing these chores, I just assumed, like, I could just tell him. For sure, he know how to wash the bathroom tub. But I'm like, man, just wash the bathroom tub, grab the windex, scrub the thing. I hope you're not snapping and pointing like that. I was on that. And I started to get frustrated the more that I had to tell him. He was already frustrated because he had to do it. But I think I lacked the patience of working with him through this process instead of just being a dictator and saying, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. I would not know how to wash a tub, by the way.

01:47:42 - 01:47:46 | Speaker 2:

Just throw the Ajax and scrub it with the water. I wouldn't even know to use Ajax. Good old-fashioned Ajax.

01:47:46 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, or comedy.

01:47:47 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 2:

Like, I do now as an adult. Like, don't get me wrong. I've cleaned my shower before. But, like, as a kid, I would have used Windex for everything. Like, I would not know.

01:47:57 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:47:58 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

So you got to walk him through it.

01:48:00 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 4:

So you felt bad because you were.

01:48:02 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 3:

I did, man. I felt, I just felt like I was being demonstrative to him.

01:48:07 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny is when you were telling the story, I had you on speaker and Chelsea was there, too. and we hung up the phone and chelsea's like man we screwed up as parents our kids should have learned how to like clean toilets and you know do that thing because our kids our kids were told pick up your room and the idea of picking up their room was putting clothes in a hamper like that was kind of the the nature of things because chelsea did pretty much everything for them and i think

01:48:32 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 3:

it's good that you're teaching josiah this it is but at the same time i have to be i have to be a

01:48:37 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 1:

part of this and not just be the dictator are you feeling bad about the specific chore are you saying in your head now okay maybe cleaning scrubbing the tub and cleaning the toilets was is a little bit too much or it's how you presented it to him or as you said extend the opportunity to

01:48:53 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

him yeah i i think that i needed to do a better job of working with him and maybe doing it with him the first time instead of not only expecting him to know what to do but chastising him for not

01:49:04 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 1:

doing it so I you should talk to Wes about this because after Wes got divorced and he you know he had the kids a good chunk of the time he had Kieran and Samantha a good chunk of the time and so they did they learned how to do their laundry on their own in like elementary school he had them cleaning everything and for him the way that he kind of worded it was like we're we're a team this is our house we all have to contribute like we there's nobody else it's just us so we all have to do these things together and those kids now i mean they're amazing they are amazing i look at what they do compared to what i do with mine and i'm like smith can you please just put your backpack on a hanger or on a hook instead of on the floor did he you know ask him why it

01:49:47 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 4:

didn't happen when it was just all the whole family together well they were so little okay they were very very little before okay right yeah but that was how he would have probably done it

01:49:55 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

anyway yeah i i i don't know but well does he

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

add some of that aspect with uh lucy and smith or is he kind of hands off and let you do that

01:50:04 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 4:

a little bit we're kind of working through that right now of trying to give them age appropriate chores and it just looks really different for them what it did for we parent very differently

01:50:15 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 3:

be careful though because of i had a friend of ours termina chelsea and i's whose uh they were never married but they were engaged at one point he was kind of militaristic with her kids on things that they would do they were i think i even talked about it one time he made them shovel the snow um off the grass and then off the grass on the grass yeah like he would have them like with his stepkids or his kids with his with his stepkids and he would do that like hey i'm going to teach you guys how to do real work and honestly i think the kids resented him for that

01:50:46 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 8:

Well, shovel off the grass and put it back. Yeah, that's not fostering good familial relationships.

01:50:53 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Jen?

01:50:56 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. I just wanted to say I think that it's really important to teach, to actually do these things with your kids, teach them how to do it, because it seems like common sense as an adult, like you don't know how to use a broom. You've seen me do it 17 million times, but they really don't. You actually have to teach them. And the other thing I was going to say to you is that when I became an adult, I had a mother that didn't teach me how to clean. And when I became, I had to teach myself how to do laundry, how to cook, how to do all that stuff. So I'm really big on trying to, like, prepare my children to do that when they get older so they don't feel as incompetent.

01:51:33 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 4:

I still don't know how to cook. Yeah, I was just about to say that. Not even being funny.

01:51:36 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 7:

I just was never taught. I was just about to say it's funny for parents to be like, you've seen me do this a million times. I watched a million cooking shows. I couldn't make a risotto right now.

01:51:44 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 8:

You know what I mean? But I've seen it, or a beef wellington. I've seen that made a thousand times on television. I couldn't do it.

01:51:49 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, and I think something as simple as you think of sweeping is not simple to a child because you may be in the room when your parents doing it. You're not doing it, looking at everything. You may mimic the emotions, but you're not knowing exactly what they're doing.

01:52:03 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 4:

It reminds me of when I was learning to drive and my mom would sit in the passenger seat and she'd be like, just back out of the driveway and go that way. I'm like, I don't even know. So you take this for granted that you've done this every day for however many years. I don't know which way to turn the wheel. You need somebody to do it with you or to really teach you. Hey, Jamal.

01:52:23 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I was just trying to touch on Kev. No, I feel that, bro. I feel like my lack of patience for my little one is also kind of a thing that I'm dealing with right now as well, man. because it's just like it's hard to it's hard to expect them to do things but also at the same time I I got a note that we have to give them grace because they're so little yeah but I just like bro like why can't you figure this out but at the same time it's like this is their first time doing

01:52:50 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

it this is it's like I feel that bro we're on the crazy thing so it got down to the point where I bought Josiah like one of those like watches where you can call them and talk them and track and all of that and he didn't know how to fasten the strap of the watch to like lock it in so it was loose on his arm and i even got frustrated on that because in my mind it's like just tighten up the thing and when i i could almost cry right now i was holding back tears yesterday as i was looking to him because i was apologizing and i'm my mans right now just made me think about it like josiah had been feeling this pressure and this emotion of how negative i have been to him over these little moments and i didn't realize it because he didn't tell me about it until i was apologizing and i could see his hurt in his eyes yeah but also like his appreciation and noticing

01:53:38 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 4:

that i noticed and also what a great lesson to him to hear his dad say that wasn't my best me being my you know my best self as a dad to you and i'm really sorry i wish i would have behaved this way i wish i would have explained it this way i think that's so big for kids to see

01:53:55 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 6:

hey lacy hey first time long time um so i have four kids and i'm the same age as kevin i'm 35 um and my mom was like the kind of mom who's like you don't get to do anything until this house is clean and my brother was like always running around so it was mostly me like being responsible for cleaning up everything and my kids are getting to the age like they're about to be 13 12 and 10 the little one he doesn't do

01:54:26 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 7:

anything he's useless but um you just call your kid useless he's five and he's like the baby he

01:54:35 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 6:

was like a covet baby so he like he rules the house so yeah he's useless as the baby of the family don't call us useless so like my kids know how to do all of the things they but during the school year also their responsibilities are less because their job is school yeah yeah that's good so their their priority is school work they come home they'll unload the dishwasher they can sweep the floor they can

01:55:00 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 2:

vacuum they can't do laundry to save their life though you know and i do like kind of get so frustrated with them not being able to do simple things that i was able to do when i was at that age but i also remember like they get to be kids more than i did also you know it's amazing though

01:55:14 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 4:

they also have a lot more electronics and fun things than we probably all had when we were

01:55:20 - 01:55:25 | Speaker 3:

younger do you think they also have more expectations on them no i think i disagree

01:55:25 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 2:

i think that they're i for my kids personally i don't no i think that they have more i think

01:55:30 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 4:

i think our parents our parents expected more without even saying it we have to actually and we give them less because we got put through that i like i think that like when it comes to sports

01:55:43 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 3:

and education and achievement like having a job being in a sport um doing well at school i then

01:55:50 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 4:

I think we make them more active. Do you think that it's expected, though?

01:55:55 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

It was for me.

01:55:56 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 4:

Really? But I'm talking, what about these kids nowadays?

01:55:58 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 3:

I think it is expected. I think more kids are participating in competitive travel sports than ever before. And I think that's more financial responsibility on the family and higher expectations and more pressure.

01:56:09 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 4:

But do you think that's not expectations? that's us making them we we are giving we are we are overly making them uh uh get involved in things which i think is expectations and pressure well i think the problem is though when they fail at it we allow it to happen our parents i i think that the parents like you scott mick do you think

01:56:31 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 3:

scott mick would have let you quit anything at all um i mean he did but it was different so i didn't have to be in a competitive travel sport he would do it if i wanted to but if i had to be in an activity but i think but it didn't have to be a competitive travel sport and i i see kids nowadays and what it costs and what the family travels are and all that and i just i think it's

01:56:59 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 4:

harder for kids well i i think that the kids are more uh i think kids right now you're right do a lot they do more travel stuff and they do more they get they parents for some reason are living

01:57:12 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 3:

vicariously thinking their kids are all going to be absolutely think that's what it is and we i feel like we forget that these kids did two years of at-home schooling where we put that pressure on them and they were not you know i think kids have a very very difficult time way harder than

01:57:26 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 4:

i ever did well i think that they i think that they do a lot more stuff outside the home than they do inside of the home i think in the home they come home and they probably have more fun

01:57:34 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 3:

video game in and sitting on the couch something that makes it a lot tougher for me too is i don't think there's as many single income households anymore i think more and more often we're seeing both parents working outside of the home and that just wasn't the case for at least where i grew up it's a lot harder to not have that presence of a parent at home walking you through sports or walking you through homework or whatever it was i i feel bad for kids i feel so bad for them yeah i

01:58:04 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 4:

I think that I think what Kevin's doing is phenomenal because I think that Josiah is one of those kids that is very already smart in school. He's very creative. He's got the creative side.

01:58:16 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 1:

He's very, very mature.

01:58:17 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 4:

He's extremely mature. And I think that it's good that he's getting a little bit of work going. I think the one thing we don't do with our kids, honestly, is keep them active. And, like, I think that that was one of the things. Like, we were told, go out and play and don't come home until, you know, it's dark outside. So we were running outside nonstop, you know, and I still was fat. But I, believe it or not, but I think it's amazing where I found the food. I must have came, I must have hid, I was like a chipmunk or whatever. I hid it inside.

01:58:50 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 1:

You were the kid in the neighborhood that was going to all the neighbors' houses to get their snacks.

01:58:54 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

But I do think that, I do think that that's one of the things with these kids. I think these kids, we give them the, oh, they're so busy. They're so this. They have this. And we focus so much on telling them they have to be good in school or you have to be in school. When in reality, it's like, I mean, honestly, I think they'll let the kids be a freaking kid. You know what I mean? And stop putting so much focus that school is the most important thing or sports is the most important thing. I think the most important thing is if Josiah knows how to clean a tub and clean a toilet and doesn't live, he's not going to be living in squalor later in his life, you know what I mean? Like in a dirty house. I think that's important. He's going to be well-rounded.

01:59:34 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 1:

I think the most important thing is how Josiah treats others and how he demands to be treated. That's more important than sports, than cleaning the toilet, than school, than it's his ability to respect and be respected. Done. And you have done a phenomenal job with that. I appreciate that.

01:59:52 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, somebody texted in the group chat yesterday something about Conclave and Jeff Bezos. It's on Amazon Prime now. Is that what it is? If you haven't watched that movie, it was nominated for an Academy Award this year. Definitely watch it in the wake of the death of Pope Francis, which, by the way, little update if you missed it this morning, his funeral will take place on Saturday. And the Vatican did issue his death certificate listing the cause of Pope Francis's death as a stroke that prompted irreversible heart failure. It also listed his prior health struggles, the bilateral pneumonia he was recently hospitalized for, the pneumonia he had as a teenager that prompted the removal of a lung, hypertension. He also suffered from type 2 diabetes, diabetes, as Mojo says. He was 88 years old. Let him have fun. I mean, President Trump yesterday commenting.

02:01:17 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 2:

He was a very good man who loved the world, and he especially loved people that were having a hard time. And that's good with me.

02:01:25 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 1:

british author mel elliott you probably don't know her or haven't heard of her but her name is in the dirty today because she's making claims that megan markle's canceled netflix series pearl was really similar to her earlier children's books about a character named pearl power i don't even know that megan had a an animated show that was kind of in the works again it has since been canceled so it's not happening but pearl the animated show that was supposed to be on netflix was all about a little girl who found inspiration from influential women throughout history love that so yeah it's a great concept but it's very similar to what this author wrote about so her legal team sent three different letters to megan and to netflix starting back in 2021 warning that the show is a great idea however it might infringe on her intellect in her you got it on her intellectual property there we go but she said she sent three letters never got a response in may of 2022 netflix ended up canceling pearl and the reason they gave was budget cuts but this author again her name is mel believes that it was her calling out megan for being a copycat that really did it and now she is sharing her story have no idea why and she said look i wasn't trying to ruin her her endeavors here but i just wanted to be acknowledged or at least invited to work as a collaborator on the show and that never happened do you guys hear what happened with is happening with shannon sharp if you don't know who shannon sharp is he's a hall of fame tight end espn personality being accused of sexual assault and battery in a brand new lawsuit the woman behind this filing under a jane doe alias she is accusing shannon sharp of sexually assaulting uh her multiple times over a two-year very rocky consensual relationship they had she's asking for 50 million dollars in damages now here's the thing hours after the lawsuit was filed shannon sharp's legal team released a statement denying the allegations along with a slew of screenshotted text messages that this jane doe sent to shannon that were very sexual and graphic in nature. So his lawyer said, you know, these messages to Mr. Sharp clearly indicate the nature of their relationship and that it was consensual and sexual in nature and in many cases initiated by her with specific and graphic requests.

02:04:00 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Didn't he release her name too? Yeah, the name is an index message. He did release her name. Gabriella. Yeah.

02:04:05 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 1:

02:04:56 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 1:

Joe Cocker, I think I've only heard of because of maybe my dad. Yeah, your dad definitely. New Order was in that whole Depeche mode. This is Bad Company. Hold on.

02:05:05 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 3:

Mexican rockers, excuse me, Mana.

02:05:11 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 1:

02:05:12 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 3:

02:05:18 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, let me play you some New Order. Hold on a second here. I'll find some New Order for you. New Order was big in the 90s, I think.

02:05:29 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 3:

But, I mean, that's when I was listening to Nukes on the Block and, you know.

02:05:32 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever hear this song at all? Where am I right now? This song was in all those.

02:05:44 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

Was it in The Wedding Singer? It sounds like it was in The Wedding Singer with Adam Sandler.

02:05:48 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 1:

It was in all those movies like The Breakfast Club and stuff like that back in the day, too. Okay, okay.

02:05:52 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 2:

But yeah, so American Idol Sunday, if you care. Ryan Seacrest is going to do it.

02:05:59 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much. All right, so it's Mojo in the Morning. I was just recently in Chicago, and I'm going to tell you guys this. that town must be the shoplifting capital of the world and the reason and i don't know google somebody google shoplifting capital of the world like where's every shoplifting i could not i could not believe or shoplifting capital like what cities have the most shoplifting incidents i could not believe that every single store that i went to in the city of chicago and we were staying downtown you know the beautiful magnificent mile gold coast you know the city by the the lake that's named michigan after our state um and i could not believe that every single store had an armed security or off-duty chicago police officer in it and i could we went to everywhere we went to nike we went to lululemon we went to nordstrom's we went to the aloe store we went to The Walgreens, I had to go do, you know, that because I forgot my bag. Every single store had an armed security person there. And I kept thinking to myself, this must be like extremely expensive to actually have not only people that are working behind the counters, which a lot of the stores, like the Walgreens had self-checkout, but they had a security guard that was standing there. And I asked one of the security, I asked a guy at the Nike store. You ever go to the Nike store on Michigan Avenue? Oh, yeah. they got uh it's not as good as it used to be it used to be like really good you'd go in there sometimes you're like oh my god they got this or you know they had like these jordans and stuff hey it was like five floors of crap it felt like i felt like i was in a like an outlet and um i said to one of the security guards that's standing in front there's like three armed security i go hey can i ask you guys a question i'm not from chicago and i uh i said is this like a thing in chicago where you guys have cops and the guy's like you don't understand and i said what's that i said are people just coming in the store and like

02:09:13 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 1:

leaving stuff in their bag he's like oh the one-off people aren't the people we're worried about we're worried about the they have like a flash mob group of people that will come in and they'll just like bombard the store and try to rip you off and then take off that's crazy if

02:09:30 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

you're in the store if i'm in the store when that happens i'm having a heart attack what's crazy is number one city per capita with theft what is it chattanooga tennessee is it yeah so what are you

02:09:40 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 1:

stealing from chattanooga i would have thought it would be like san francisco because you always

02:09:44 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 3:

see the stories for theft just in general but when you're doing it per capita uh per capita

02:09:49 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

it's uh it's chattanooga oh okay so it's a smaller so you're saying these these are police officers or these are like a lot of security guards they're cops with sidearms or they're security guards side.

02:10:00 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 5:

Because don't they have that policy where you can't chase me if you're an employee of the store?

02:10:06 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 7:

Yes, we had that when I worked in retail.

02:10:08 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 1:

Maybe it's just a distraction. But I've often wondered this. The people who are the shoplifters, how do you do it? Because my sister back in the day used to be a regional for the Lane Bryant stores. Shout out to Lane Bryant. We love them. Shout out to my girls that like Lane Bryant. And my sister used to tell me stories all the time about all the theft that she would have to deal with. Every woman that would go into that store, go in and try stuff on and leave with the clothes on. Like they would take off.

02:10:39 - 02:10:42 | Speaker 7:

Like underneath their clothes that they walked in with is how they do it.

02:10:42 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 6:

Because you know what their number one thing that they sell is? Bras and underwear. These are people that need underwear. That makes me so sad.

02:10:50 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that they really needed underwear or you think they're just stealing it for money too?

02:10:53 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 6:

No, it's a plus size underwear store and there's not that many options.

02:10:56 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 1:

for plus size bras but you instantly go there they needed it do you think they really need they're stealing it for that or they're they're stealing it because they are selling it reselling

02:11:04 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 6:

it i i don't i think there's a difference between you brought up san francisco the people do that do like smash and grab stores where they go into a gucci and they take 30 purses and three jackets versus somebody who's going in and taking bras like i do think there's a difference there just like if i'm at a grocery store i'm never gonna see you stealing deodorant toothpaste or or diapers Like, I'm never going to see it.

02:11:26 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, if you're stealing diapers, I feel bad for you. But if you're stealing, you know, crates of diapers and putting them in the back of a truck because you're going to sell them on Amazon. Right.

02:11:34 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 6:

I agree with that. That's why I think laptops and iPhones are different than bras and diapers.

02:11:39 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 7:

I think it's wild when you see the videos of women pushing strollers and the stroller. Like, there's a baby in the stroller, but they're just putting crap. Yeah. They're stealing all the stuff they're stealing. They're putting, you know, underneath in that bottom part. Or have you seen the videos of the parents or grandparents, whatever, guardians, who have the kids actually either act as a decoy or do the stealing? They think that they'll get away with it.

02:12:04 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 6:

It's so sad.

02:12:06 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 1:

My sister told me one time of the lady that was at Lane Bryant. They used to put stuff up her vagina. Oh, yeah.

02:12:13 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 7:

What you mean?

02:12:13 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. They would hide things.

02:12:15 - 02:12:24 | Speaker 5:

It's a great place. What are you going to say? Your joint too blue. Jewelries and accessories. Stuff in panties and bras. Yeah. Is that easy?

02:12:24 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's what I want to do. Lydia, do me a favor. Go through the phone lines, and I want you to call us up. We'll voice disguise you. But I want to hear from the shoplifters. And also, obviously, if you work at a store, I want you to tell us, like, you know, where you've been ripped off and robbed. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's your most stolen item that you're either snatching or you've snatched or put in the snatch? Who knows? I don't know. What's up?

02:12:53 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 4:

Cheating is a choice. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 940 on Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:13:14 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

02:13:44 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Correct. So I was a very loyal shopper at Target and I was recently, I was at the self-checkout and apparently I had two bathing suits. One was a clearance bathing suit for $4 and I didn't scan it. It didn't scan on the register. So after I checked out and finished, I, um, they actually arrested me on the spot and charged me with retail fraud. Yes. Target ain't pulling around. Yeah. $5,000 later with the attorney and everything got dropped because of, you know, there's lack of evidence, but it was scary. And, um, yeah. So that, you know what it is,

02:14:13 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 1:

The people that steal in big bulk are the ones who ruin it for just the innocent person that may have a missed scan because they're like, hey, we're losing so much damn money on this deal. You want to talk to some of those people that are the ones that are big-time thefts? Oh, yeah. Hannah here. Now, are you saying that you are a rehabbed kleptomaniac?

02:14:38 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So back when I was struggling with addiction, I've been sober five years now. I was there. Thank you. But I was very good at shoplifting. I would find receipts on the ground, and then I would steer clear of any electronics and only go for, like, dog food, laundry detergent, diapers, those type of items. Pretend I was shopping.

02:15:00 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 1:

okay or once i collect it oh you're cut you're cut for a second hold on you would shine like you were shopping and then what would you do with them i would walk straight out the door

02:15:14 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 3:

um like i'd have a decoy receipt in my hand just walk out then go to a different store of the same like type down the road or wherever and return the items get cash back wow and you were using this money to go get your drug fix yeah drugs or whatever i had all like the side effects that come

02:15:34 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 1:

with using so homelessness those type of things question for you uh why why did you go for dog food i've never heard that one before why dog food well i was just using that as an example

02:15:45 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 3:

because that was like a higher price item so i'd find these receipts that weren't mine yeah and it would like i said i would steer clear of electronics because that's where i felt like lost provincial and look at you yeah lost provincial wasn't looking for someone to steal dog food and And that cost $30, $40. And so that would be, I loved those receipts and, like, diaper receipts because those were, I could get one item, and that was enough to get me enough stuff to last me for the day.

02:16:07 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 1:

What store was your most frequent theft taking place at?

02:16:13 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 3:

Probably Target.

02:16:15 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Like that last lady.

02:16:17 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 3:

Over about, like, an 18-month period, I had to have stolen, like, $30,000 of merchandise. Oh, my God.

02:16:24 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 1:

Shut up. What was your drug of choice?

02:16:27 - 02:16:28 | Speaker 3:

math

02:16:28 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 1:

wow well we're happy that you're clean and that you are doing it right now honestly and everything is good although do you have any more dog food or teeth is it true that when you do math that you lose your teeth I have all my teeth she's got her teeth she's got them right there well thank you Hannah I appreciate that I'm happy for you Yes, indeed. God bless you. Keep it going. Kaylin. Kaylin, you're there. Kaylin? She stole her connection. Hi, Kaylin. Hello. There you are. Kaylin, you worked at a Dollar Tree. Why are people ripping off a Dollar Tree? You're only getting things that cost a dollar.

02:17:17 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 2:

The funny thing is I was there for six years, so I recognized most of them, and I would be like, hey, you know, there's a Target across the street, and they'd run out of the store real quick. What were people, what was like the top stolen items? Well, we're at Dollar Tree Plus now. So we'd get our big $5 baskets and just fill it with stuff. And run out? And there was actually, oh yeah. There was one time they got an extra large gift bag and I caught the guy outside. He dropped it because the string fell. There were 11 bottles of warming lubrication. Whoa, he just busted out my night.

02:17:50 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 4:

11 bottles.

02:17:51 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 1:

by the way i buy my lube at a dollar tree plus

02:17:58 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 2:

it means it's warming you might as well absolutely for the buck that's amazing

02:18:04 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 1:

maddie said that she would go for a specific item because she was able to resell him what item was that maddie when you would uh be shoplifting yeah hi guys

02:18:18 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 4:

first time long time what's up what's going on so this was a long this is a long time ago i i don't do this anymore but um my ex-boyfriend was is a little shady and we would go to like meyer or walmart and we would just grab as many garmin gps's as we could oh because they were they were like half the time they weren't locked up so we could just throw them in my big purse and then we would sell them on like craigslist or ebay or something and they were like two hundred dollars so they make pretty good money what kind of money would you sell them for like a discounted price just under 200 yeah no that would be like 150 but i mean we were we were pretty young so that would last us quite some time but we were we were quite the kleptos too he would he would

02:19:13 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 1:

You were the original Bonnie and Clyde.

02:19:18 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you could say that for sure.

02:19:20 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 1:

I love that you had to be the one carrying it. Do you think that if you got busted, he would have, like, said, I don't know who she is?

02:19:27 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, absolutely. He's a terrible human.

02:19:31 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 1:

He would throw your ass in. I don't want to be the one to be the mule, you know what I mean? Right. I'm not carrying it. Right. I'm putting that on somebody else.

02:19:42 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, I got half the profit, so it was kind of worth it.

02:19:45 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:19:45 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 4:

And I'm back in.

02:19:48 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 1:

Joe stole so much. Joel, you ended up doing prison time?

02:19:55 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hi, guys. Joe, I'm a very long-time listener. Hey, Joe. Yeah, not a first-time caller. Okay, so when I was 18, 19 years old. All right.

02:20:07 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 6:

He robbed us. He just robbed us of no air horn. He's been listening 518.

02:20:11 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Joe. Shut up. So when I was 18, 19 years old, I was hanging with, like, the wrong crowd and doing a bunch of bad stuff. And me and a buddy of mine, we used to go into Walmart, and they had these airsoft guns that, like, had these big batteries that ran them. You could shoot them for automatic. My kids had those things. Those are great.

02:20:33 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Wow. Okay. So expensive.

02:20:35 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 3:

Those are great. So we would put like four or five of those in a cart and then we would grab cases of beer and Red Bull and Monster and then we would have like a subway receipt, you know, and then so they're standing there and they just give us a nod and I say thanks and they say have a good day. So I ended up escalating, of course, and ended up doing armed robberies and that's what I at the prison for. Oh, my God. With those airsoft guns or, like, a real gun? No, no, I had a real little Compact .45 that was real. I could have definitely.

02:21:10 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 5:

So did you do the whole stick-em-up type thing, or did you just have the gun on you and say?

02:21:15 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

02:21:17 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:21:18 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 3:

I robbed liquor stores, cab drivers, a gas station. Yeah, it was all the bad stuff. What finally got you caught, Joe? Five years? Well, it was after a couple of the armed robberies. It was the last time me and my buddy were at Walmart, and they, like, surrounded us, and we fought our way out, and my picture was on the news that day.

02:21:42 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, damn.

02:21:44 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 3:

Yep, and somebody called the Crimestoppers and said, I know who that guy is.

02:21:49 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

There was some tip money attached to you. There was some money attached.

02:21:54 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 6:

When you robbed banks.

02:21:55 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes, there was.

02:21:56 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 6:

When you robbed banks, was it like the movie? where you had to wear a mask?

02:22:00 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 3:

I didn't rob a bank. I was almost there.

02:22:04 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 5:

The liquor stores.

02:22:05 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

I was almost there. Yeah, liquor stores. There was a Kroger gas station kiosk, which I've already pled to all this, so I'm not worried about getting in trouble again.

02:22:15 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 1:

I can't imagine the kiosk had a lot of money in it, though. Who's paying with cash anymore? I'd be so mad.

02:22:22 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you something? I wouldn't rob a liquor store or these party stores because I think most of those guys got guns behind the counter with them. So I'd be so afraid of that.

02:22:31 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 1:

For sure.

02:22:31 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 5:

Tiffany said she stole from a Target just last week. What did you steal, Tiffany?

02:22:39 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 4:

Can you hear me?

02:22:40 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 5:

I got you, Tiffany, yes. And I'm tracing this call.

02:22:44 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 4:

So I had my kids with me. It was for Easter. I had grabbed the big bog bags off of a shelf, and that's what I was hiding their stuff in.

02:22:56 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 5:

And you stole their Easter bag items or you mistakenly stole?

02:23:01 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, I stole the bag, the Easter or the bog bag. So, like, I shoved all their stuff in there because they were in the cart. So, I was, like, trying to hide it from them. And I got to the U scan and I scanned all their Easter bag stuff and then forgot to get that part off of the bottom of the cart.

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 5:

So, this is a mistake.

02:23:19 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 4:

It was accidental.

02:23:21 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. All right. But, I mean, she still did it. She didn't go back and pay for it. Go back and pay for it. No, we ain't doing that. Cohen, what were you calling about?

02:23:31 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 2:

I had a comment about the guy that stole the lube. Yeah? Yeah, he's going to have a fantastic Diddy party. Oh, Jesus.

02:23:41 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 5:

Do you think any of the lube at Diddy's parties ever came from a Dollar Tree Plus?

02:23:47 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 2:

Diddy, diddy, diddy.

02:23:48 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 5:

Probably not.

02:23:50 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 2:

He probably got good discounts on it.

02:23:53 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. All right. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. He waited on hold just to tell us that. I know.

02:24:00 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 6:

02:25:06 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 4:

mic and say, hey, Mojo in the morning. So my best friend keeps asking to hang out with me and my new boyfriend and his whole friend group. The thing is, my boyfriend doesn't like her. They've gotten into a few fights before and she's apologized, but he still doesn't want anything to do with her. So I'm not letting her join our plans because I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable. And my best friend thinks it's on me to fix things between them, but I don't really think that's my job. She says I'm choosing my man over her, and now I don't know what to do.

02:25:38 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 2:

Am I an a-hole for this? Is she? Let's find out from Olivia more details. Olivia, first off, how long are you friends with this person? How long has this girl been your best friend?

02:25:49 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she's been my best friend for about six years. Okay, so it's been a while. How long has

02:25:54 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

this guy been in her in your life not long a few months okay and uh you're choosing uh you're choosing the guy over your friend is it because the the fact that you think that she's in the

02:26:10 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 4:

wrong for whatever they argued over i mean i think yeah you know he she thinks that you know he's cocky and he thinks that she's annoying and i think they're both just being petty and not thinking about you know if they both love me or i don't know if he loves me yet but you know hopefully we're getting there that they would get past that and you know it not put this on me to

02:26:36 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 2:

choose or whatever um they they there is do you think that some of their fighting is their personality how much of their fighting is their personality and how much of their fighting is jealousy maybe where you see sometimes where the girl's upset that you got a boyfriend or the guy's upset that you got this best friend that takes time from you.

02:26:59 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think that definitely is a big part of it.

02:27:04 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 2:

Here's what I would say. I don't know what the fights are about and I don't think we'll be able to have enough time to get into what the argument's about. But I will say this, that it's really hard out there to date. I hear stories all the time of girls that can't find it. Like they'll go out dating and guys are losers. It's easy to find a new best girlfriend. You know what? No. Wrong. Dish the friend for the penis.

02:27:33 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 1:

I will say this. It's hard for me to tell you who's the a-hole here because I don't know what the arguments were about. Maybe your boyfriend very much was in the right here and your friend was not. I just, I remember my mom instilling this in me from when I was in like Lucy's age in elementary school. Boys will come and go, but your girlfriends last forever or your friends, whatever your friends last, your friends are there for you, you know, through thick and through thin. And so it, you are, you are stuck in between a rock and a hard place for sure. Having to choose and make plans with one person and not include the other. I that's tough I do not envy you

02:28:14 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm hoping that you know they'll just start to get I mean it's only it's been a couple months so I think they just need to I don't know hopefully just warm up to each other a little bit more and hopefully she'll see he's not just you know a nothing boyfriend that I'm just hanging out with or whatever I'm gonna be honest

02:28:31 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 5:

that's a bad footing that's hard to come back from right off the bat

02:28:35 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 3:

I could be I don't know what I could be but maybe I missed it You know in your hardest of hearts who was wrong in this scenario, in this situation. Which one was it? Your best friend or the dude that you just met?

02:28:51 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 4:

I think my best friend, honestly.

02:28:53 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 2:

Was wrong. Yeah. So should she, because I would say then you should be friends enough with her where you could pull her aside and say, Hey, instead of not having to invite. because I think what you're doing is you're avoiding the confrontation of telling somebody that they're in the wrong.

02:29:12 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but sometimes even when you tell your friend that's in the wrong, they're in the wrong, they're going to blame the dude because you're choosing him over her. Oh, that's so tough.

02:29:21 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Am I the a-hole is what we're doing.

02:29:23 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 4:

That's why I haven't done it, yeah, because that's exactly right.

02:29:25 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

I want quickly from listeners, if you call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 and tell us if you think Olivia is an a-hole for doing this and if you're Olivia who do you choose on this case yeah is she an a-hole

02:29:42 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 1:

for choosing her boyfriend over her best friend of six years

02:29:47 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 3:

yeah I mean I think on the surface I think that's the obvious choice because they don't have time in yet two months can't compare that to six years of friendship

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

you got to figure this thing out now Olivia

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

because

02:30:00 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 2:

the problem is if you don't figure this out now and if this guy becomes a long-term relationship that means you're giving up a friendship for yep a guy but if he your soulmate it is what it is you don't nobody you know first off soulmates are bs i don't believe in that i just think it's

02:30:16 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 8:

a bs thing but i also think i think it's about effort and putting in work you don't know if somebody's a soulmate two times you think your soulmate is just randomly born in the general facility that you were when there's 7 billion people on this planet? Or do you think your perfect person doesn't even speak the same language as

02:30:33 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

you? I have no idea what that question means. My soulmate doesn't speak the same language

02:30:39 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 8:

as me? I mean, the probability is just high that they wouldn't, you know?

02:30:44 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 1:

A lot of people speak English, Megan. And you can learn languages. I don't know how to take that.

02:30:49 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 2:

Let me go to Sam real quick. Let's go to AMI the a-hole on this one. AMI the a-hole, Sam, what do you think? Is she an a-hole?

02:30:57 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 6:

Um, I do not think she's the a-hole. I think, um, both of her, I think the boyfriend and her best friend are in the wrong.

02:31:05 - 02:31:06 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:31:06 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 6:

Um, if they cannot be civil adults, then they simply do not love her and appreciate her as who she is.

02:31:12 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 2:

That's a good point. Maybe don't hang out with either one of them. Maybe they both need to be put in timeout. Uh, Rebecca, what's up? Am I the a-hole?

02:31:21 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 3:

Hi there. I do not think she's the a-hole. I actually went through a situation similar to this a few years ago. and my boyfriend at the time just did not like my best friend, thought she was a really bad influence on me, and I ended up choosing, I guess, in that situation, my boyfriend over her. He and I had only been dating for like two or three months, and we're actually married now with our first daughter. Oh.

02:31:44 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 2:

And what about where's the best friend at nowadays?

02:31:46 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 3:

We don't talk anymore. We were friends for a few years, but I actually did realize how much she was a bad influence on me, and I was just not my best person with her.

02:31:55 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. You kind of weaned out a friend by finding this new person that you're now together with. What's up, Marlene?

02:32:03 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 7:

Hey, good morning, everybody. Good morning, Marlene. Good, Marlene.

02:32:06 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 2:

What do you think?

02:32:07 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 7:

I don't think peen should move you like that. I don't think you should dish your best friend for some new excitement.

02:32:16 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 2:

Don't ever be moved by the peen. I like that, by the way.

02:32:19 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 1:

Don't get moved by the meat.

02:32:21 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

That's well put, Marlene. That was great.

02:32:24 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 6:

Marlene, don't call it a peen. I mean, peen comes a dime a dozen. I mean, it's not a good idea.

02:32:33 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it's tough out there to find good peen, though. What's going on?

02:32:36 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 5:

Marlene is the peen queen.

02:32:37 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 2:

Corey, what's up?

02:32:39 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. Good morning. Good morning. So I don't think that she's the a-hole, but I also think she should be Switzerland in this situation because, like you guys said, they're both adults. And actually, my best friend's boyfriend, when she first started dating him, I could not stand him. I literally could not stand him. Now we get along so well, and he's, like, actually really good friends with my husband, too. So it could end up working out. So she should just do.

02:33:05 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's a good point. It might take some time. It's only been two months. Carrie, what do you think?

02:33:10 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 4:

I think that he's been an a-hole because if she really wants to be with him, he's got to accept her friends. Some guys don't want anybody else's friends other than their own.

02:33:24 - 02:33:25 | Speaker 8:

That's so true.

02:33:25 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 2:

I think that that's the case, too. Olivia, I wouldn't so quickly give up a friendship over a guy you've only known for two months. But I also would not let her off easy if she's the one that's the instigator in all the problems. I think you've got to have a talk with her. Last call from Tiffany.

02:33:43 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 7:

Yes, how are you?

02:33:45 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic, Tiffany. What's going on? Am I the a-hole? What do you think? Olivia here.

02:33:50 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 7:

No, she's not an a-hole, but honestly, I would choose my friend, but I would have to make my friend understand that now that I'm in a new relationship, just to respect, you know, him. And that I would still invite her out to dinner with us, though, and I would actually make them talk about it.

02:34:08 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 2:

That's actually not a bad point.

02:34:09 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 7:

Because either one is not going to go nowhere. He's a mediator.

02:34:12 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 2:

I have seen situations where people outwardly in the beginning don't necessarily seem like they get along. And then it turns out that they realize they have more in common than you think. And the most thing that they have in common, Olivia, is you. That you brought them together. So is your friend, do we ask this question? Is your friend in a relationship?

02:34:34 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 7:

No, she's not.

02:34:35 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, there's a problem. You know what you need to do? Find out from your boyfriend. and find her somebody that you guys can match her up with.

02:34:46 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 8:

Pawn her off on somebody else.

02:34:48 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 2:

There you go. See if there's some other peen out there, as Marlene would say.

02:34:54 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 8:

Mojo.

02:34:55 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 3:

Exposing male trash. Loser. One D-bag at a time. War of the Roses! Woo! War of the Roses in Minutes on Mojo in the Morning. Cheat, and you'll get caught. It's the War of the Roses in Minutes on Mojo in the Morning.

02:35:14 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 2:

All right, giving away a brand new car. It's a Chevy. Love my Chevys. Drove the Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry. Let's go.

02:35:27 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 3:

I love that song. Yeah, that's a vanguard.

02:35:29 - 02:35:34 | Speaker 2:

You got to play that. Drove the Chevy to the levee, but the levee. What was that from? What song was that from?

02:35:34 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Bye-bye, Miss American Pie. Bye-bye, Miss American Pie. Drove the Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry. That's the story. And with old boys drinking whiskey and rye, singing, this will be the day that I die. That's a banger, bro. This will be the day that I die. You know what? That's a banger.

02:35:56 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 4:

This song is... And the catch and the cradle and the silver spoon.

02:36:00 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Little boy blue and the man on the moon. Literally.

02:36:06 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 4:

And we'll be together then. And we'll have a good time then.

02:36:11 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'm going to come a little bit newer than that. Take on me.

02:36:17 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 3:

Take on me. Take me on. Take on me. All right.

02:36:31 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 1:

We need to put us out of our misery. Call 844-ROJO-LINE. I apologize.

02:36:36 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 2:

Call 844-665-6548 for a chance to win a brand new Chevy. It's find the effin' fob. We actually changed the words, by the way. It's called find the effin' fob. No, not find the fob. Because if you can't find it after two weeks of doing it, you're like, where the heck? Where's my happy father?

02:36:55 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:36:57 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 1:

Love our sing-along.

02:36:58 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 2:

War of the Roses coming up here in moments. Get ready to bust a cheater this morning. The guy had a condom in his car that she found, and she now thinks he's cheating. Shannon, what's going on in the dirty?

02:37:09 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 1:

So, Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, and her secret cancer battle. She tells Gayle King on CBS Mornings that she was recently diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.

02:37:22 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 4:

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my left breast. How hard is it to say that? I'm getting emotional because it was like, you know, I've always tried to take care of myself. And I just it was I was in disbelief.

02:37:37 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she said doctors discovered two tumors during her mammogram appointment. And this is your reminder right now to make your mammogram for this year, ladies. and she said although she's recovered from the cancer there have been a lot of obstacles and hurdles along the way she contracted a post-surgical infection so bad that she almost had to bail on that glamour 2024 women of the year event that was held back in October just like a very very big deal to her she pushed through it because it was important to her even though Beyonce was like please just stay home and rest that's what you need to do but she knew she deserved the award that was getting bestowed. So just something that she kept close to her and didn't want to share. And now she, thankfully, is on the other side of it.

02:38:23 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 2:

It's amazing how much she sounds like Beyonce in that clip, huh? Sounds exactly like her mom, or Beyonce sounds like her mama.

02:38:32 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 1:

Kanye West taking to social media to announce that he has released a new song that I cannot play for you, but it is about childhood incest. The song is called Cousins. It is about, he says, his cousin that is locked up for life for killing a pregnant woman a few years after Kanye claims that he told this cousin that they could not look at dirty magazines together anymore. And he talks in this song about how when he and his cousin were both around six years old, they stumbled upon some dirty magazines and then they started acting out what they saw. um and he said you know god i can't get into detail here because it's just not appropriate but there were sexual acts very sexual acts that happened between kanye and his cousin and that is detailed in the song cousins so if you hear it just know that that's what it's about the problem

02:39:32 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 2:

though with kanye releasing any you know things like that that would be something like wow i'm to listen to this or he's done such a horrible job of public relation for the guy that now it's kind of like i'm like all right i think kanye needs to you know go away quietly this is this

02:39:51 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

is intense just go away i mean somebody that says that they you know either have been sexually abused or was put in this situation.

02:40:00 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 6:

that forced them to participate in the sexual act younger than what they should have been, and we just kind of brush it off and say, he crazy, go away.

02:40:09 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 2:

No, I think it is sad. I think it's horrific. Well, let's say that. Let's say that then.

02:40:14 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 6:

I just did. I think it's very sad. You were prompted to say it. Go ahead. I'm sorry. I'm being combative. I'm being combative.

02:40:20 - 02:40:24 | Speaker 2:

It's just he's harmed a lot of other people.

02:40:24 - 02:40:39 | Speaker 5:

I think that the thing is, that is probably what has led him to go down the paths that he's gone down is that he's got a lot of, you know. And it is no doubt that when his mom died is when he kind of went off.

02:40:39 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 6:

But it sounds like with this, the trauma started way before then. All I'm saying is let's give people some grace. And obviously he said things and done things that we don't agree with, and I'm not saying he should be absolved of those things. But let's also have a heart and say, okay, he's been through some stuff that may have been the domino effect to lead him down here. That's all I'm saying.

02:40:59 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 3:

Fair, fair. I'm going to end on a happy note, okay? Let's talk about the Detroit Pistons. What are you going to talk about?

02:41:04 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, by the way, I love when someone is having Shannon's like, I wish I didn't do this story.

02:41:09 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I don't feel well. I didn't want to do that story anyway, but it's everywhere. It's like, yeah.

02:41:14 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 5:

Why did I not talk about the Pope being dead?

02:41:16 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 6:

Because we always talk... Because we all know the Pope's dead is funeral Saturday. We always talk Kanye crazy. We talk everything negative Kanye. Then the story, come on. and everybody want to be on hush mode? No, we're going to talk about it. Let's talk about it. What is happy that you want to talk about?

02:41:29 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 3:

The Pistons. What? Cade Cunningham. Hold on, hold on. 33 points. We're not winning game two.

02:41:34 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 1:

And you heard that from me. Y'all print whatever the hell y'all want. Y'all put a front page, back page, middle of the page. They will not win game two. Ain't no more to be said. We will win game two. He made 70 react.

02:41:45 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 5:

We will win game two. I miss Rasheed Wallace. Could you imagine a player like Rasheed Wallace on this team playing with these guys? Oh, my God. We bring in that bad boy energy bag. That's for sure.

02:41:55 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 3:

So it is tied one game apiece in the best of seven matchup. Thursday, we will be back. The Pistons will be back home here at MSG.

02:42:04 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 4:

At LCA. With the Pistons leading at 64 to 53. Brunson put it up high. Knocked out of there by Townsend. But right to Cunningham. That's saucy. King Cunningham. Saucy.

02:42:15 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 6:

Listen, these refs got to do something about Jalen Brunson and the foul baiting that he's doing. We got to stop it. This is not basketball.

02:42:21 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, when he, like, leans into you behind the three-point line. It's ridiculous.

02:42:28 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 4:

Brunton gets it in. Caught by Towns. Brunton will fire. And that's it. The Pistons end the longest losing streak in NBA playoff history. Wow. They win their first postseason game since 2008.

02:42:44 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Wow. Wow. Thursday. I'm going to post a link on my Instagram. may have some tickets available. What? But the link will send you to Ticketmaster. Wait, hold on.

02:42:55 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were going to buy it. I was like, wait.

02:42:58 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 6:

So we know that there might be some tickets still on sale? I don't know. I doubt it, but it would probably be on the secondary market.

02:43:06 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 5:

I would like to know if there's anybody listening that has ever felt like I have been a good person to them over the years that has tickets to that game. If you need a companion, I will drive if you have tickets to that game. I'm actually at a point now where I'm excited over the fact that we've got all these playoff teams. But I'm starting to also wonder, how do people have enough money to go to all these games? Between the Tigers making the playoffs at the end of the baseball season, then the Lions and their season then going into the playoffs, and now the Pistons.

02:43:39 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Did you see their new locker room?

02:43:41 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 5:

With the Lions, yeah. I saw that yesterday. But here's the thing. Most of the people that have these tickets usually have tickets to all these, you know, different sports. How do they afford going to every one of these?

02:43:51 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 3:

So I know a girl who's been selling her designer bags and shoes because she's such a huge sports fan. And that's how she's been buying tickets to specifically it was Lions. But isn't that I mean, it's insane. It's insanity.

02:44:04 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's nice to be. It was nice to have winners. Right.

02:44:07 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 2:

I think that was a big bummer, though, that I've gone to games every single year. Lions games every year. And this is the first year I couldn't afford to go to a game.

02:44:14 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 5:

That's sad. I'll tell you what, if you stay and don't leave us, I'll get you to a game next year. Oh, my God, now it's starting to bribery. I'll do it. Otherwise, go hang out with the mud hens if you want to. But if you stay, we'll get you some Lions tickets.

02:44:29 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 3:

Latrice. Latrice, let's get you into a brand new car. We got to shout out our friends over at Moran Chevrolet, where you could be driving a brand new Chevy.

02:45:38 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:45:40 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 3:

Latrice is driving what? Thank you. What are you driving right now?

02:45:43 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm driving a 2012 Ford Escape.

02:45:46 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 3:

Let's get a lot of escapes, by the way. A very popular car that a lot of people are trying to win a new car with. So congratulations to you. We're going to set you up with the chance to win Find the Fob May the 2nd, okay?

02:46:01 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:46:02 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 3:

All right, hold on one second. Lydia will be talking to you next. Be nice to her because we were mean to her yesterday.

02:46:09 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay, thank you.

02:46:11 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 3:

All right, hold on one second. War of the Roses, if you think that you're being cheated on, text cheater to 95500.

02:46:18 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:46:24 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 3:

Erica thinks her boyfriend is cheating. Erica, how long have you guys been together?

02:46:30 - 02:46:31 | Speaker 4:

Eight years.

02:46:32 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 3:

Eight years. And it's also something interesting is that eight years and you've been waiting for him to propose. And now you are starting to think that there's somebody else in his life. Why is that?

02:46:46 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 4:

So I found a condom in his car. and I kind of confronted him about him.

02:46:55 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 3:

Like an unused condom?

02:46:58 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yes.

02:47:00 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 3:

And do you guys use condoms?

02:47:04 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 4:

We do, but I thought it was really weird. Like, why would he have it in his car, just like one condom?

02:47:11 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 3:

Usually you guys, if you guys are going to use condoms, like you guys have them together. It's like you think that he's just keeping it in his car for somebody else.

02:47:21 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we have them in our bedroom. Is it the same kind of condoms that you normally use?

02:47:27 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, it is the same kind of condoms. So I'm assuming you asked him about it, and what did he say?

02:47:35 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 4:

He said that he wanted to try new things with me, maybe having sex in new places, which I found really strange because he's never mentioned that to me before.

02:47:48 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 3:

I think that it seems like it could be a possibility that this is the case. I think I'd be a little bit more suspicious of him if it was a different condom or if it was, you know, something else besides this. But that's all you're going off of? Or is there anything else that you haven't told us about?

02:48:10 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 4:

yeah i mean he did cheat like at the beginning when we first started going on

02:48:18 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 3:

eight years ago when you guys got together yes okay and do you believe that it was a you know something that at that time because you obviously went eight years of being together and haven't thought anything do you think maybe this is something that he's just been good about covering up for himself and covering his tracks? I

02:48:38 - 02:48:50 | Speaker 4:

haven't really doubted him. Like, the last eight years, I didn't think that he had done anything else. I have no reason to think that he's lied to me or cheated to me in the last eight years, but to me, he's really strange. Yeah.

02:48:51 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 3:

Alright, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. I want you to do us a favor and mute your phone. We're hoping that the flowers go to Erica. Stay there. Do not say a word, though, okay? until we say something to you.

02:49:07 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:49:07 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 3:

All right, mute the phone. War of the Roses.

02:49:23 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

02:49:24 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm looking for Liam.

02:49:28 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, this is he.

02:49:32 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 1:

Not going to ask you for credit card information or anything. That is just a free promotion to get the word out about our new business.

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Good. You're not good.

02:50:00 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 1:

take my information or anything? Nope. Nope. It really is easy. And like I said, it'll take about 30 seconds, depending on how fast you can answer two questions. Oh, all right. Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Liam? I have not. Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? I do not. Okay. That's all I needed from you. And as a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey. I am now authorized to provide you with that dozen roses. And so I just need a first and a last name of who you'd like to send some flowers to today. And then I'll get the

02:50:35 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 4:

phone number right after that. Okay. Okay. Um, tell you what, why don't you send them to Reagan?

02:50:49 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And a telephone number? okay and her relationship to you just that she's a one i know okay and confirming that a dozen

02:51:10 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 4:

red roses is okay all right that's what you're sending that's fine okay um and liam we do

02:51:20 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 1:

something unique at rosesbloom.com and instead of sending a card with the flowers I'm gonna have you record a voice memo so when the flowers get delivered a little bit later on this afternoon Reagan's gonna get a text alerting her that she has a delivery and then she's gonna be able to play this voice memo and know that it's from you so whatever you would write on a card maybe even a little longer than that you can just go ahead and record and I'm gonna count you down here all right? Three, two, one. From Liam. Okay. Liam, did you want to include a message, an actual message, or that's all you wanted to put on there? Yeah, I'm good. Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay

02:52:11 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 2:

with that yeah sure great and liam i'm gonna come on just to wrap up everything and then we're gonna send those flowers off but i gotta just take two more seconds of your time from you and let you know that while you've been sending flowers your girlfriend erica has been listening in and just heard you send them to another woman excuse me liam this is the mojo in the morning radio show and your girlfriend erica called us up because she wanted us to see who you would send a dozen free roses to and you just sent flowers to another woman is it somebody that you are in a relationship with besides her?

02:53:03 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 4:

No, no. She's just someone I know, but I don't have a relationship with her.

02:53:10 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 1:

But you would choose to send her flowers over your girlfriend. And there's no relationship there.

02:53:19 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 4:

No, there's no relationship there. Nothing going on there.

02:53:25 - 02:53:26 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about that, Erica?

02:53:27 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 3:

I think that's bulls**t. I think it's total bulls**t. I found that condom in your car. You think, like, I'm stupid? Like, really?

02:53:43 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think this is bulls**t.

02:53:47 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 3:

Because you got caught in a lie? No, this is bulls**t. You just got caught. Why don't you just tell me?

02:53:56 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 2:

Do you know who that is, Erica? Do you know who that girl is?

02:54:01 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea.

02:54:05 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 2:

Liam, who is... Liam? You hung up the phone. All right. Try to get him back on the phone with us.

02:54:21 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 4:

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo

02:54:31 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning

02:54:33 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh Mojo, he's amazing

02:54:35 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 2:

Live Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses eight years is a long time to be in a relationship with someone and the relationship not to take to the next level or at least be talking about that.

02:55:05 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

It also blows my mind how many times guys will send the flowers to just some random person at work and not think that that's a big deal. Yeah.

02:55:15 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 2:

Do we know who this person is or do we know who this random person is? Because honestly, I think you just gave a number. Oh, you're right.

02:55:21 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm just assuming work. Right. But you know what I'm saying? Like, to a random person and be like, oh, she's, you know, just somebody I know.

02:55:28 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Find out, Lydia, let's find out who this person is. If there's somebody that knows anybody that's name is Reagan that has been hanging out with an Ethan, you've got to call us up because sometimes that's where we end up getting the details. What's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Melissa wants to make a comment. What's going on, Melissa?

02:55:49 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 6:

Hey, guys. So my comment is after eight years, you're still using protection with your girlfriend. That's a red flag for me right there. interest why because to me if you're you're gonna use other protection a guy who wants to use protection it takes away a lot of the pleasure no it doesn't yes it does no yes it does you know

02:56:12 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 7:

the pleasure for me is you bring condoms that that pleasure is the peace of mind and other there's other ways for that i know somebody who's gotten pregnant on every other method and let me tell you i'm on birth control and i still require him to wear a condom because condoms can break

02:56:31 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 3:

and my birth control can be wrong and that actually doesn't strike me as odd as the fact that they've been together for eight years and well there's there's no talk of another step in

02:56:42 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 2:

the relationship that strikes me as more odd but it also strikes me as more is odd is that his excuse to why the condoms are suddenly after eight years in the car is because oh yeah he would like to explore more interesting forms of sex, right?

02:56:57 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 3:

He's put some party favors in there just in case because we all know how prepared guys are.

02:57:02 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going to put one. By the way, one of them. That's all he wanted to do was one time because he had one kind of in the car. Don't you think it's weird, though,

02:57:08 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 7:

that they don't do it in the car?

02:57:11 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I think cars is uncomfortable to have relations and to bake cookies in.

02:57:16 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 3:

I disagree with you there.

02:57:17 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 2:

Cars are not fun. You don't drive the kind of cars I drive. they've got you got a big car i don't i don't like that uh what's up uh lara what's up

02:57:28 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 5:

hey good morning so i was thinking um with the condom thing as well um he probably is sleeping with other women and maybe just doesn't want to pass anything along or potentially have a kid

02:57:40 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 2:

you know because he's wearing protection well that's that's probably the case is that at least he's wearing protection so he's not carrying any kind of diseases or anything like that to her or to Erica.

02:57:56 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 5:

You've got to think about it like this. If you gave your significant other an STD, they'd know instantaneously you were cheating on that. They would know right away.

02:58:04 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 2:

I agree with you on that, but I also say thank God that he's not trying to get her infected with somebody else. It ain't even about

02:58:14 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 1:

getting her infected. He don't want to get infected.

02:58:16 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 2:

Well, that too, but at least he's a responsible cheater. Let's give him credit for that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Is there, or are we looking for just a topic here, a red flag in the fact that they've been together for eight years and there has not been any kind of more of a commitment. Eight years is a long time, folks. That is two years shy of 10 years. What's going on, Vicki?

02:58:43 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 4:

that yeah you can totally hear him start to say yeah when she asked do you think i'm stupid

02:58:49 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 3:

the stuff that you guys pick up that we don't when we're recording them is so brilliant

02:58:57 - 02:59:04 | Speaker 2:

i applaud you for discovering that hey vicky do you think eight years is a long time without a

02:59:04 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 4:

more committed relationship oh yeah oh yeah that's way too long yeah some people don't want to be married bro that's it which which is very true you don't want to be married but if you're dating with the intention of marriage eight years is too long because you know what eight years says

02:59:19 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 1:

to me commitment yeah some people are i literally just had this conversation maybe about a week ago with a young lady that i'm not dating she was a friend and we were around a group of friends and it came up and she said as long as we're locked in together and i know you're my person putting a ring on my finger doesn't change anything for her and her mind she said it only creates more financial problems and a whole bunch of other stuff but if we can stay committed in this relationship and know that i'm with you you're with me that's all i need hi allison what's going

02:59:49 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 6:

on yeah it's definitely a red flag after eight years yeah after one year we getting engaged bookie, and then the next year, we getting married. I ain't seen it. Hey, man.

03:00:00 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Are you single?

03:00:02 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 2:

I am single. I was going to tell you that, too, last time I called.

03:00:06 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, why does he always have to pinpoint this? He's profiling you, Allison. He shouldn't be doing that. Time lines is a little tight. Allison, if you found a lone condom in your guy's car when you guys never are going into the car to go do this, or you're not moving.

03:00:26 - 03:00:27 | Speaker 3:

Get the bail money.

03:00:27 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 1:

yeah are you how we question for you i've never asked this question of anybody how would you kill him i was been watching dateline nbc's lately it's all anti-freeze everybody uses anti-freeze

03:00:40 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 4:

to kill their spouse it's a different one

03:00:43 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 1:

chelsea and i watched two episodes of dateline nbc back to back and they were both anti-freeze And I said to her, I go, I'm going to, uh, oh, oh, oh, O'Reilly.

03:00:57 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 4:

Listen, it doesn't matter. They check for that on the toxicology now. That's not a good way.

03:01:02 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 2:

It does not matter how you do it. You just got to get rid of the body. No body?

03:01:06 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 1:

No grime? I will say this, though. Yeah. I have seen movies where they take, like, pliers and peel off the fingernails. Yes. I do kind of want to do that a little bit. Samantha, what's up? Hi.

03:01:18 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 3:

It's just torture. What's going on, Samantha?

03:01:20 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 1:

They do that scandal.

03:01:21 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 2:

oh not much um me and my husband didn't get married till after we had been together for 10 years and we've now been together for 18 um and i still have him use protection even though my tubes are tied because i know two people whose tubes reattached and they got pregnant like 10

03:01:38 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 1:

years after they were well grown why why tie your tubes then were you doing it for medical reasons or because i would at that point why why go through the surgery none of them work we have

03:01:49 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 2:

to do something because you guys won't wear condoms i think it uh i had c-section so i was already yeah table so i said go ahead and time and a lot of women do that yeah by the way the

03:02:00 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 1:

worst thing ever is getting a for a guy don't ever get vasectomies i'm against vasectomies it completely screws you up as a guy to get a vasectomy but you don't care that a woman's on hormones for all of her life i would rather wear protection and wear uh good old-fashioned uh you know uh condoms pull out what's up no that doesn't never work driveway yes it does what's going on

03:02:24 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 3:

and hi and hi okay one pull out method not effective thank you my my husband and i now um but we we met at 20 and he knew that i didn't want a long engagement so if he was planning on proposing it needed to be at a time in our lives where we were financially stable to have the wedding that we wanted and so we prioritized other things first people thought we were crazy but we bought a house together at 23 both of our names on it we were not married we knew that we wanted to be together but we were prioritizing different things first we went on big vacations we had fun and then at 29 we got married and now we're 35 so we've been together for 15 years now i don't think that it was a red flag at all it was just what we agreed on yeah so so i don't think if you both agree on it it's not it's not a sign that something's wrong with the relationship well i

03:03:14 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

think also the other thing problem in this relationship is they don't talk about it like erica erica brought it up more with us than she probably did with him probably and and i think

03:03:24 - 03:03:33 | Speaker 3:

that that's just and communication is so key in any relationship and if you can't talk about things like that with your partner you shouldn't be with them but this is also an intuition

03:03:33 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 1:

situation too where her you know intuitive side aside from the condom was hey he has cheated before on me in the past, and this seems like he's doing something a little shady right now. All right. 03:04:58 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 4:

friend of mine, she has a husband.

03:05:00 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 1:

husband and two kids. I will not say his name because I seriously feel so bad. This is highly embarrassing. But they have never taken family photos before. I think the last time they took quote unquote family photos was when she and her husband got married before they had kids. So this was something that she's like, it's so expensive. She finally pulled the trigger, got the family photos. We went to lunch at the end of last week. We went to lunch on Friday. And so she's like, I finally did it and they're beautiful. I'm looking at them on her phone. And as I'm looking at them, she said, but I can never use them. I can't post them. I can't use them for a card. I can't print them out and put them in frames around my house. And I'm looking at her like she's a crazy person. Why? These are gorgeous photos. She has a beautiful family to begin with. And as soon as she said it, I couldn't unsee it. Her husband has really large balls. and he was wearing pants. I don't know if the pants were fitted or it was just the way that he was posed in the majority of the photos, but every single photo, once you notice it, that's all your eyes go to. Wow. Are his balls.

03:06:11 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 2:

Ruin every photo.

03:06:13 - 03:06:15 | Speaker 4:

We're hanging on them. Ruin?

03:06:15 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Why did she ruin it? Like, how did the photographer not go, hold a child, put them in your lap?

03:06:21 - 03:06:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, and we actually know the photographer, I don't know if she either noticed it wasn't comfortable to say anything or she didn't notice it because she was busy wrangling two kids to smile for a photo that that she her eyes weren't focused on his area how does it how how does it ruin it though because okay god i want to text her and have her send me one are they once you see it it's that's all you look at in the photo by the way before you've

03:06:50 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 4:

seen these photos would you have ever suspected that your friend's husband would have ginormous

03:06:56 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 1:

testicles yes really yes why he's just that kind of guy what do you mean by that does he have like

03:07:01 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 4:

a deep voice or what's he's got he's like a man he's a man's man yeah whose balls are bigger him or do you think wes did you look at him and measure i did not measure i did not examine

03:07:12 - 03:07:17 | Speaker 1:

that clue i mean it's right there i've not seen his balls i would say wes's balls are very normal

03:07:17 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 4:

size like what are normal size balls like normal size balls like this not balls that you look at

03:07:22 - 03:07:24 | Speaker 1:

and go, holy crap. Yeah.

03:07:25 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 4:

Like, I always sit there and I think to myself, ball, thank God for my balls. I thank God for my balls because the bat is not very big. But the balls, but I will say this, there are some guys that have balls. More balls? There's some guys that have balls that are like, you know how women, you guys have some boobs that stand up on, you know, like they're up, and then some women have boobs that can be a little floppy. I think that me, I'm the floppy balls. There are guys that have stand-up balls. Like where their balls are, like, they get ball lifts, I think, or something. Like, you know how women get boob lifts? They get ball lifts.

03:08:08 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 1:

I just, God, I want to text her really bad and ask her if she'll send me one of those.

03:08:12 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 4:

I want to see it so bad. Please tell her. Tell her don't change it.

03:08:15 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 1:

The poor guy. You can't. She could never post. I'm not exaggerating.

03:08:20 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 4:

It's that bad?

03:08:21 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And he's wearing lighter colored pants, so it's just like really, not khaki, they were like a, maybe a bluish, grayish.

03:08:29 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay. You can't, you can't Photoshop a man's privates. By doing that, you have already cut off this man's balls pretty much when you got married to him. So you cannot Photoshop them, because if you do that, it's, I think it's bad karma, you know what I mean, to do that.

03:08:45 - 03:08:49 | Speaker 3:

I mean, she said it's family pictures, and you want them to look at the two kids, not the two testicles.

03:08:49 - 03:09:06 | Speaker 4:

right how could you actually have the name of the could you have the name of the family be over his privates like at that point like the family it would be in the middle of the photo so photos but you couldn't like position something like that because you can't you can't photoshop it

03:09:06 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 1:

like if you photoshop also she's telling all of us so now we're all aware that this is the case so if we get something from her that it's like her i mean christmas is far away but if she sent out you know anything with it even if she posted it on her social media at this point we're all roasting

03:09:21 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

you don't think though that uh that you guys next time that you see him are going to be looking at his privates to see how they're looking oh there's no way she's not gonna hey has anybody ever done pictures and you did pictures and you looked later and there was either a nip slip or somebody had camel toe or something you know yeah you know like something like that i joe took a picture one time my son joe my oldest son joe he took a picture one time and he posted it and chelsea said right away she knew for a fact that the only reason he posted this picture because he had his legs kind of spread and he was wearing a pair of like golf pants and

03:10:00 - 03:10:16 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea goes, he's only trying to show off that he's got a, you know, a larger size, you know. So, I don't know. I think that it's fine. I think there's no problem with a seller post. Yeah. The photographer, for sure.

03:10:16 - 03:10:22 | Speaker 3:

I want to see it so bad. But at the same time, I would want a photographer to blur out, like, if you could see, like, nipples or something.

03:10:23 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 2:

I always have THOs in all my pictures.

03:10:26 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 3:

This is very true. You do. Don't you want those blurred?

03:10:29 - 03:10:33 | Speaker 2:

No, because it's me. It's my thing. I just try to, like.

03:10:34 - 03:10:37 | Speaker 5:

It's my thing. Did you get a nip lift?

03:10:38 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 2:

No, I just have always had natural.

03:10:40 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 3:

It's very perky.

03:10:42 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 2:

Hard peanut. Or hard. No, natural hard nipples. What's going on, John? How are you doing? I'm good. How are you? Good. John, how big are your balls? Are they as big as Shannon's friend's husband's?

03:10:58 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 5:

No, I would say they're about average. Yeah.

03:11:01 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about this? Would you be upset if your wife Photoshopped your balls? No, I do Photoshop.

03:11:07 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 5:

It's what I went to school for graphic design, so basic Photoshop. It wouldn't be hard to take care of. I do a lot of editing on older pictures that are cracked and destroyed. I can color them and give her all the cracks. So it's really not that difficult to downsize him in a way. Have you ever had to do this?

03:11:25 - 03:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Downsize him.

03:11:27 - 03:11:42 | Speaker 5:

I mean, you can make it so it's, you know, you're not covering it up. You can just fix it. You can, you know, you can change the dimension, you know, and it's Photoshop. You can do a lot with it. Her problem isn't the cracks, though, that you're used to covering. It's sex.

03:11:43 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 3:

You've been holding that one in.

03:11:46 - 03:11:48 | Speaker 5:

You've been waiting for the right time. You've been waiting.

03:11:48 - 03:11:50 | Speaker 4:

He did smile and look at us like, hmm.

03:11:50 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm about to see it.

03:11:51 - 03:11:58 | Speaker 2:

john i would like you to photoshop my pictures and give me balls if you can uh what's up michael

03:11:58 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 6:

how you doing i'm good i'm just working how about y'all we're doing okay we're talking about

03:12:04 - 03:12:11 | Speaker 2:

shannon's friend with the husband with big balls yeah you made the comment about ball list and i

03:12:11 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 6:

text in and first time long time too okay wait wait wait wait

03:12:16 - 03:12:19 | Speaker 3:

What was next? You had a ball lift?

03:12:21 - 03:12:22 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

03:12:22 - 03:12:23 | Speaker 6:

Huh?

03:12:23 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 2:

You had a ball lift?

03:12:24 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 6:

No. No, I'd say tell me about them because you were such a... I know. I got a ball lift. Can I be honest with you?

03:12:30 - 03:12:37 | Speaker 2:

I think you need a brain lift. Can I do it? No, Michael. So, Michael, you're like me. You got saggy balls. I would love to have a ball lift, you know?

03:12:37 - 03:12:40 | Speaker 5:

For what? 34 and halfway out of the leg.

03:12:40 - 03:12:55 | Speaker 2:

When you get to a certain age, once you get to a certain age, your balls, they sag. You don't want tight balls, though. No, but you want them to come up a little bit. That's not important. I'm just, I like certain things to be done.

03:12:55 - 03:12:56 | Speaker 5:

I can't do that with us.

03:12:56 - 03:13:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to be real honest. The only people that care what a wean and balls look like is men.

03:13:01 - 03:13:09 | Speaker 5:

Men are the only people that care. I'm telling you why I don't want a tight set. Right, but I'm telling you. Certain things can't be done with a tight set.

03:13:09 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm going to tell you something. I don't like the idea. I don't like the idea of having my chin hanging down or my balls hanging down. I would like to have both of those be a little bit more, I don't know, together. What's going on, Charlie? Hi.

03:13:28 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm sitting here laughing because you said, you know, sometimes I just sit and think and I thank God for my balls. I do.

03:13:39 - 03:13:40 | Speaker 2:

I do.

03:13:40 - 03:13:46 | Speaker 1:

And, like, the things you said and think about, like, a moment in that brain would harm someone.

03:13:47 - 03:13:57 | Speaker 4:

No, I want that to be my biggest problem. I'm so jealous of men sometimes. Because I know you sit there and you think about, are my balls saggy? And I would love for that to be my issue.

03:13:57 - 03:13:59 | Speaker 5:

No, y'all had that same logic with boobs.

03:13:59 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 4:

No, I think it would be. Absolutely. You know what? Everybody loves boobs, and everybody loves all boobs.

03:14:04 - 03:14:10 | Speaker 5:

But I know girls for sure that love the fact that they don't have to wear a bra because they sit a certain way.

03:14:10 - 03:14:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm jealous of other people, but I've never been like, oh, I'm really concerned about how low my... No, that's a lie. Right, right. You knew before I started that. You're like, she's going to realize it.

03:14:35 - 03:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Oh, those are cutie oranges, which, by the way, are small for oranges, but big for balls. And seedless.

03:14:42 - 03:14:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's not quite the size of baseball, but they just hang there. Where are you getting your cutie oranges that are the size of baseballs?

03:14:51 - 03:14:56 | Speaker 2:

No, she's saying they're not quite the size of baseballs, but they're cutie oranges.

03:14:57 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 3:
