through july 31st wkqi detroit wsnx muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo this is mojo in the

00:01:52 - 00:02:20 | Speaker 2:

morning. Oh, Mojo, he's, he's amazing. Live. Are you ready? Five, four, three, two, one. This is Mojo in the morning. I am kind of a wimpy Cuban guy, you know what I mean? I eat half an Oreo with the cream scraped off and I gain another butt cheek just like that. Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mojo in the morning. Showtime.

00:02:22 - 00:02:52 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:02:52 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 5:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show as you are getting up and out and about oh just be conscious of the fact that uh winter is back uh the 80 degree temperatures that we had over a week or so ago gone and not in sight now for a while, it looks like, looking at the, like, 14-day forecast.

00:03:31 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 3:

Colder than a witch's titty up.

00:03:34 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 5:

Yes. The temperature right now, we are at almost freezing. So we're at 33 degrees right now.

00:03:43 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 2:

There actually is a freeze warning at the moment.

00:03:47 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

Is that because anybody that got, like, excited about that 80 degree temperatures and started to plant anything there which several people in my neighborhood did i thought oh those aren't gonna last very long unfortunately thank god that we are on the other end of that spectrum my wife and i were we don't plant until we have something big going on at our house like a graduation party or uh friends parties or something like that and then we decide okay we'll clean up uh the flower boxes and usually the party's not until like august so so we actually wait until then but yeah i'm looking at these temperatures uh the high for the week uh will be on friday at near 60 degrees but it's going to rain and it looks like next weekend they're calling for all rain but it's so long in front of us and then the next temperature that will be close to 70 degrees consistently is not until they're saying cinco de mayo or so so yeah i did that thing this weekend where i was kind of doing

00:04:48 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 2:

some purging and putting away all of the cold weather stuff not obviously I didn't look at the temperatures for this week I put away all of like the winter coats and stuff into a different closet and kind of brought out all the spring and and warm weather stuff and then I'm like Dang it. I have to go grab it for the kids to go to school today.

00:05:04 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

We yelled at Mike last week because he put his ice scraper away. We're going to have to yell at you because you're the reason for that. By the way, I know we have stuff scheduled and planned, but real quick, I would like to say that if we don't discuss this, I'm going to say that this is very upsetting to me because we discuss it always for the guys. We never discuss it for the women, but an upsetting moment for Shannon when she came into the building this morning here to start off our new week. What did you experience in the ladies' restroom at iHeart?

00:05:34 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

Big poop in the toilet.

00:05:36 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 1:

Whoa.

00:05:36 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

All right. Oh, not just that, Mike. That's a good way to start your week. So I go into the bathroom, and there is a bunch of pee in the toilet and a big poop floating in there. Daddy! Because nobody's in here over the weekend, right? No, there are people. Oh, there are. I'm here, but that wasn't me. Okay. I thought there were many people here over the weekend. DNA tested there, Katie. But it was in the process of disintegrating, so it had been there for a while.

00:06:01 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

That was your last night. Why? Why?

00:06:03 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 2:

How do you pee and poop and not flush it? Like, there was no attempt. Are we sure the toilets were working? Well, I kicked it with my foot, and it flushed just fine. You kicked the poop? No, I kicked the flusher. Oh, I thought. And it flushed perfectly fine.

00:06:20 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Shannon, like, put her foot in the toilet.

00:06:22 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not.

00:06:24 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 1:

Break it up. By the way, you are employee of the month

00:06:28 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 2:

It didn't take much to flush the poop The original owner of the poop should have done that

00:06:33 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 1:

You get the special parking spot in front of the building For doing that, for flushing that duty down

00:06:38 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

I am a poop hero on this Monday morning

00:06:40 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 1:

But here's the interesting thing Megan, I like that you're trying to stick up for whoever the poop-a-traitor is We have a new poop-a-traitor here Because you have been blamed before as a poop-a-traitor I've been blamed as a poop-a-traitor I think everybody on the show has kind of had a little perpetrator, but if you go into the bathroom, especially on a Friday, and the toilet doesn't flush, you need to send an all-company email out or at least get in touch with the engineering staff because you're going into a weekend. It's not like you're doing this Monday morning thinking that somebody else is going to be the one to speak up, but you've got to at least say something about that.

00:07:19 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

And truly, this was not a situation, you could tell, of the toilet getting clogged or, like, there was no attempt at flushing maid, for sure. It was perfectly whole. Had a busy weekend.

00:07:31 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

It's a child thing to do. Because my children, and a boy thing, too. But I'm glad it happened in a women's restroom where no children work. Because to now know that you, you, all of you, I'm pointing to every one of them, because Mike and I are outnumbered now on this show. you yes are just as dirty as we are so i don't want anybody calling us guys dirty people because women i know you're bad because i talked to a a cleaning crew person from somerset collection which is the big mall here in town and i asked her whose bathrooms are dirtier the men's or the women's because she was out cleaning you know she was waiting for me to leave so she can go clean And she goes, by far the women's. I mean, she was not even questioning the guy. Women are dirty MFers. So by looking at it, do you have an idea, just based on girth and everything, do you have an idea of who it might be?

00:08:28 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 2:

I honestly hate that word so much. I don't, Mike. You know, it didn't cross my mind to try to draw the little line between the poop and one of the female employees of this radio station.

00:08:40 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it was one of the other female on-air personalities, or do you think it's the nasty sales department? I think it's the nasty sales department. Do you think so? Yeah. That's funny. Well, I'll tell you. I do. Whoever has a good digestive system, I'm sure.

00:08:54 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Because whenever the sales team is here, those bathrooms are nasty.

00:08:58 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Are they really?

00:08:59 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

Yes. You know what consistently happens is we have those things that you can pull from the door that cover the whole toilet seat. And there is somebody here who loves using those, but then doesn't dispose of it after they're done going to the bathroom.

00:09:14 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 1:

So you have to pick at it.

00:09:15 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 2:

So you have to pick, which I'll be honest with you, I'm not touching that.

00:09:19 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:09:19 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 2:

But they leave it on the toilet instead of flushing it with whatever you just did in there, which you're supposed to do.

00:09:26 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. I'm going to find out. I'm calling Gina the cleaning lady.

00:09:31 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Tell her.

00:09:32 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Right now. Could it have been her? No.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

Gina's so clean. Gina doesn't poop. Are you kidding me?

00:09:37 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

That's right. She's like a superhero. It doesn't happen. Hello. Gina, I'm sorry. I'm sorry to call you so early. We're on the radio right now, Gina. How you doing? Good morning. Good morning. Good. How are you? We're good. Listen, Gina, Shannon has a quick question for you. Yes. Who do you think would be nasty enough out of the people that work in this?

00:10:00 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 2:

office to leave a poop lingering in the women's toilet all weekend long i found one today gina oh my god i i don't i don't know gina you you've been working for this company for a long time cleaning our our after ourselves and stuff and you're fantastic and we love you your family but do you ever encounter that where you go into the bathroom to go clean and somebody doesn't flush all the stuff down oh a lot of times yeah is it more men that do it or women uh

00:10:38 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 6:

i think men

00:10:41 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 2:

collusion so um so this time shannon ran across this and came across it and the sad part is that There's not a lot of people that work here over the weekend. There are a few, and we have no idea the person that did it. So what we're going to do is look through security cameras. Or did you ever hear the story about Paul? You remember Paul, our old boss? Paul went into the men's bathroom, and somebody didn't flush. And he said it was quite large. So he picked the two biggest guys that work here at the building, me and Bushman, and made us go into his office. Wait, what?

00:11:26 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 5:

You had a meeting about it?

00:11:28 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes, we had to... I did not know that. I said that was poop profiling. You cannot... We love you, Gina.

00:11:40 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it was Saturday morning and I cleaned, so probably... Oh!

00:11:45 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Now we're getting some details. Okay, we got some info now.

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

So it was after Saturday morning.

00:11:50 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:

Who was working this weekend? And K.P. Nobody was here Sunday night. K.P.

00:11:56 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 3:

What did you mean? I was here last night. I didn't go to the bathroom.

00:12:00 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 2:

The biggest ones come out of the littlest people, just so you know that, Gina.

00:12:04 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:12:05 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:12:06 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hey, Gina. Sorry. Gina, I know it's not Friday, but can you say, hello, this is Gina, the cleaning lady, and it's the morning, bitches.

00:13:20 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 2:

00:13:57 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 3:

work for a restaurant chain and i switched from one store to another the store i originally worked for had an automatic flusher and the new one did not so i was in the middle of a lunch rush i went to the bathroom and then i came back out and forgot to flush completely skipped my mind and someone went to the bathroom and they came back out and they made a huge deal of it i felt so embarrassed and so like terrible that i forgot to do it but it just totally skipped my mind you know

00:14:27 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 2:

yeah by the way in the men's restrooms here now we now have a new automatic flusher did you guys

00:14:34 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

know that yeah we have we have a new yes they actually put something new do you know that we don't have any sinks that work in ours well one that sometimes works well the problem was guys

00:14:44 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

weren't flushing enough so they made the automatic flusher you ever have it go off while you're still on it and you're like oh whoa geez and it flushes so hard it actually takes your sphincter right down the toilet it's amazing what's going on nikki

00:15:00 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 6:

now how y'all doing this morning we're good what's happening so i worked at bgsu for several years and and uh the first floor bathroom always the first floor ladies room we there was a person we don't know who it is still to this day that we called um the spitter if you will Thank you You would go in there And there would be The biggest Elephant sized turd I've ever seen in my life I know at least Many times we had to call maintenance To come break it up Oh my gosh Oh my gosh You get that call

00:16:22 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 5:

Looks so good by the way

00:16:24 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 3:

And left all the remnants of it there for trash You know Gina is the lady that has to take it out To the trash

00:16:29 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh no I did not leave her to do that

00:16:32 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 3:

No I know you didn't leave it for her But she was taking boxes down there And I said to her I go Gina I'll take She's like nope I'd do it And she literally carries this woman I'm going to say this to you She's in better shape than any of all The rest of us here I mean, definitely me. But she is on, this woman could literally, like if this building were on fire and somebody needed to carry any of us out, Gina would put, you know, me on one shoulder and Shannon on the other. She'd get us out of this place. She's amazing.

00:17:04 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 7:

This mojo in the mornings back in the day.

00:17:06 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Let's go back in the day.

00:17:08 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 7:

What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:09 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 3:

All right. All happened in the same year. If you can tell us the year, we'll set you up with the prize. you guys remember when apple automatically downloaded u2's album to everyone on their iphones oh my gosh yes people were upset well you too was on the graham norton show talking about

00:17:24 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 4:

this this is it songs of innocence and now no new bands come on they're trying to flog an album because everyone's got it already so it's like what's the point i mean we're thrilled we're

00:17:36 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 1:

thrilled you're here it's for all the people who got very annoyed that it was given to them free They now get Tobias.

00:17:42 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 5:

No, but this is the madness.

00:17:44 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

Seth Rogen and James Franco's movie The Interview caused a lot of problems. Remember, we were trying to interview Kim Jong-un.

00:17:52 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 2:

Hello, who this? This is the Secretary of Communication for North Korea. Our Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un is interested in doing an interview with Dave Skylark. Oh, my God. We will meet 50 kilometers west of Deng Dong, northeastern China.

00:18:04 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Did you just say China? And did you just say Dong? And the big song, Trey Song's Nana. What year was this? We'll set you up with a $50 Red Robin gift card. Red Robin, yum.

00:18:22 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 7:

Good luck. In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. We gonna take you back in the... It's Mojo in the morning, it's back in the day. tell us when this stuff happened

00:18:41 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 3:

it was like the first and last time that this ever happened but Apple was testing out auto-downloading new albums to people's phones and they did this with U2's album downloading it to everybody caused for some issues

00:18:55 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 4:

this is it, Songs of Innocence and now normally bands come on they're trying to flog an album everyone's got it already

00:19:03 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 5:

what's the point? I mean we're thrilled we're thrilled you're here

00:19:08 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 1:

It's for all the people who got very annoyed that it was given to them free. They now get to buy it.

00:19:13 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 5:

No, but this is the madness.

00:19:16 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 3:

Seth Rogen and James Franco starred in the interview in this year.

00:19:20 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 2:

Hello, who this? This is the Secretary of Communication for North Korea. Our Supreme Leader, Kim Jong-un, is interested in doing an interview with Dave Skylark. Oh, my God. We will meet 50 kilometers west of Deng Dong, northeastern China.

00:19:32 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 3:

Did you just say China? And did you just say Dong? That movie caused for, remember, the movie company to get hacked and James Franco and Seth Rogen have to go into hiding because they had a hit on them. And the big song, Nana, and I think he was at our big show with the Joe that year, too, Trey Songz. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. Heather, what year was that?

00:19:59 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

2014.

00:20:00 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 3:

It was. Congratulations. What gave it away? The YouTube thing. Yeah. Remember that happening? It's funny because I thought I bought it accidentally, and I was like, I'm not a big fan of YouTube, but why did I do this? Congratulations. We're going to set you up with a $50 gift card to Red Robin with locations all around.

00:20:21 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 4:

Red Robin. Yum.

00:20:23 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 3:

Go experience a little Red Robin. I'm telling you, it just makes you happy just to have Red Robin.

00:20:28 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:20:28 - 00:21:18 | Speaker 3:

Have a great morning. Thanks for listening. We have Taylor tickets still to give away. We got a lot of them between now and June for the show. We'll be doing that. And then next hour, I just want to tease this. Next hour, Ed Sheeran tickets and then 8.30 NF tickets. So a lot of tickets this morning. Win Taylor Swift tickets. You have an opportunity right now. Text for Taylor. Text Taylor right now to 95500 for a chance to win. That's T-A-Y-L-O-R to 95500. Standard text and data rates do apply. You could be winning Taylor Swift tickets. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon, with what's trending right now and the Dirty on the 30, man, it was big news on Friday when we were walking out of here about the Lions. This is not great.

00:21:19 - 00:21:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm going to catch you up in case you missed this story. The NFL has suspended five players following an investigation into the league's gambling policy four of those players are from the lions the other one is from the washington commanders this is dan graziano from espn yeah look i mean the difference between the suspensions

00:21:39 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

is is spelled out in the nfl's gambling policy they found that the two players the three players that are suspended indefinitely they found that they bet on nfl games strictly prohibited under the nfl's gambling policy for every everyone in the entire league players anybody who works in the league etc what they found with regard to Jamison Williams and Stanley Berryhill was that they did not bet on NFL games but that they did bet on other games while they were at the Lions team facility and there is there is in the NFL's gambling policy it states NFL personnel should not engage in any form of gambling while in any club or league setting including without limitation locker rooms practice or office facilities team buses trains flights hotels yeah so those two

00:22:22 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 4:

Two players, Williams and Barry Hill, were suspended for six games each. And then I know Quintez Cephas and safety CJ Moore were originally suspended indefinitely. However, they were ultimately released by the Lions. And then I heard that several staff members from the Lions have also been fired, excuse me, for gambling as well for the same reason. What are you doing, dummies? Yeah. Yeah. And here's the thing. I mean, the NFL did come forward and say there is no evidence that any inside evidence or information was used or any games were compromised by the players betting. But still, you know that's the rule.

00:22:57 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 3:

You can't have your major sponsors be gambling apps and then tell these players that they cannot use these gambling apps. Well, that's actually really interesting that you say that. You can tell them not to gamble on NFL games, but you cannot tell them not to gamble when that's your biggest sponsor.

00:23:14 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 4:

Because we all know as well that if you are endorsing something, according to the FTC, according to the FTC, you have to use that service or product. You have to legally.

00:23:26 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 1:

But then it's a conflict of interest, right? Well, they're not saying you can't use it. You just can't use it on NFL property, which I kind of understand. But I also think at the same time, you should be able to bet on games as long as you bet on yourself winning. Well, that's true. You should be able to, because you're not going to throw it. You're still going to try to win. And if you want to make money on the back end, how is that any different from insider trading, which happens all the time? Right.

00:23:50 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just think that it just seems, you know, like the NFL, again, shows another bit of hypocrisy with what they do. What? Well, yeah, exactly. But Williams, you know, the Lions haven't really gotten a lot of play out of this guy. No, not at all. And I wonder if they're going to go after him for the money that they haven't been able to, you know, get. from him playing, or if they say no to that, because they did it to Calvin, you know, will they do it to him?

00:24:19 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 1:

And if you're going to do it, use code WSNX when you use it.

00:24:24 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Alright, real quick, Sophia Ritchie married Elliot Grange over the weekend in the south of France. Don't have many details here. South of France, excuse me. She looked absolutely stunning. She is, of course, the daughter of the legendary Lionel Ritchie. He is the son of Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Lucienne Grange, a whole bunch of celebrity guests in attendance, but yeah, congrats to them. Reality star Savannah Chrisley said she was thrown off a Southwest Airlines flight, and she says it was for a dumb reason. She was trying to board a flight at New York's JFK Airport. She's not in prison with her parents? She is not.

00:25:00 - 00:25:14 | Speaker 3:

She was on her way from New York home to Tennessee when an airline attendant threw her off the flight after she refused to check her carry-on bag. She hopped on her Instagram story and said she now knows officially why everybody hates Southwest so much.

00:25:14 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 6:

So I went to board my flight and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, okay, I'm going to, if you wouldn't mind, I'm going to take my bag on the flight, see if I can't make it fit. And if not, I'll check it. his exact words were no that's not happening okay um well let's go ahead and put a tag on it in case i have to check it i would love to see if there's any room for it and he goes you're being an unruly

00:25:42 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 3:

passenger if they tell you there's no room yeah there's no room sorry savannah the pilot told

00:25:48 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 6:

this southwest attendant that he needed to calm down and that he was going to find a place for my bag and the southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot he looked at him and said stay out of it no you're not ma'am you're not flying on this flight wow the pilot the flight attendant

00:26:07 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 3:

was talking back to the pilot yeah well southwest did respond to all of this drama saying their reports indicate a different story than the one savannah's telling on instagram they heard that she arrived at the gate late in the boarding process and repeatedly insulted their employee after being asked to gate check her bag. They said, yes, she was denied getting on her original flight. However, Southwest booked her on a later flight the same day. And over on a different Southwest Airlines flight, some fried rice was causing a major issue. A flight from Atlanta to Houston was delayed for an hour on Saturday because nobody would clean up the fried rice that was spilled in the aisle. This is passenger Jennifer Shaper.

00:26:48 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 4:

She went up and down the aisle and asked each passenger one by one, loudly, who spilled the rice. Another flight attendant came and put a paper towel on it and again said, we are not leaving this gate until someone cleans up this rice.

00:26:58 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 3:

Wow. They tried to find the person responsible, and then they sent word to the airport gate that they needed a broom and dustpan because somebody was cleaning up the fried rice. She gets on the loudspeaker, says again that we're not leaving until this rice is cleaned.

00:27:11 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:27:17 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 3:

Nobody claimed responsibility for the rice, so the flight attendant ended up cleaning it up.

00:27:29 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 4:

She cleans the rice, but the entire time she's yelling at all the passengers about how nobody was raised right and how disappointed she is in all of us.

00:27:36 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 2:

Wow. It's funny because this comes on the heels of that kid. The popcorn story.

00:27:42 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 7:

I love it. I feel like Americans in general need a reminder on public manners. Like, y'all got to clean up after yourselves.

00:27:50 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Although I would be so mad if I was a passenger on that flight and it was delayed for an hour because of...

00:27:55 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 7:

Well, somebody else could have cleaned it up. At a certain point, like 10 minutes in, I'm probably going to get up and clean it. So all of y'all are responsible.

00:28:03 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 2:

With the price of airline tickets, they should be cleaning up me personally afterwards. You pay $600 for a ticket.

00:28:13 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely not. Clean up after yourself. It's really not that hard.

00:28:18 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Don't they have cleaning crews that come in there and do the cleaning?

00:28:21 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 7:

No. Remember, we talked about this the other day. Flight attendants, first of all, you know if somebody pulled this, they're not even getting paid if they're not up in the air, which is crazy. And then they only have a few minutes in between. They have to do first class and then a minimal sweep and then the bathrooms.

00:28:34 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NodinTheMorning.com.

00:28:39 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 1:

all right it is the mojo in the morning show we're going to be doing the five of 655 coming

00:29:02 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 2:

up here in just a couple of minutes i want to throw this out there and just ask your advice on this one, Shannon, especially because you have kids right around this age. So a friend of mine was telling me a story about how a little argument is happening between him and grandma. He has a seven-year-old daughter. And grandma, his mom, has caused for some major problems in their relationship. And I want to know if there are any Mojo in the Morning listeners that have ever had to tell grandma or grandpa no before over things that they did with their kids, especially purchasing them things. Because grandma bought their seven-year-old an iPhone, gave it to her without the parents' knowledge, and said this is for you to call me anytime you need me. And gave it to her. were in there she was playing with an iphone their daughter was playing with an iphone or had an iphone in her hand and she knew how to do everything she even had it all set up it had facial recognition stuff all that stuff going on and they go whose phone are you using is that dad's phone is mom said this is that dad's phone she's like no it's my phone who gave you the phone nama or something like whatever they call the grandma yeah and uh and they were like what So she gave them, she gave her an iPhone as a way for her to communicate and now she's got this.

00:30:32 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 1:

They can't just use mom or dad's phone to call grandma?

00:30:34 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, here's the thing. Grandma thinks that she should have an iPhone at seven years old because she goes to school and she should have an iPhone just in case anything happens that she can get in touch with her grandma. That's a huge one.

00:30:45 - 00:31:14 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, God, I would be super, super mad about that one. That's different. Like I used to get so mad when my mom would give the kids like junk, like just feed them junk all weekend. What kind of junk are we talking? Smith ends up eating a sucker and kettle corn for breakfast sometimes at my mom's house. I'm like, Mom, I told you she thought Nutella was healthy because it was made from nuts for the last time. I'm like, Nutella is like a treat. But that was besides the point. This is like, that's a big one. A phone is a big one, especially at seven years old. No way.

00:31:14 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 2:

How old is it? Megan, you probably know the answer to this question here. And if you don't Google it for me, because my computer is very slow today. I think my computer is getting on his last leg.

00:31:22 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 1:

Okay, ready to Google.

00:31:24 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 2:

Google, how old is the appropriate age for a kid to get a phone?

00:31:27 - 00:31:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's different in every family, though.

00:31:29 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Is seven way inappropriate, though? Like, is seven, like, way too young?

00:31:33 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 1:

I would say yes. And I'm sure there are parents that would disagree with me, and maybe your child needs a phone for various reasons. Luce got an iPod that she could FaceTime with on Wi-Fi that we got for her so that she could FaceTime me when she was at Dad's house and Dad when she was at my house. And actually we took We ended up taking it away from her Because it just got Like she could text And then she was you know There were some texts that we were like We're probably not ready for this yet So she got it taken away from her Was she doing mirror selfies Well yeah Yes she was She's my child Yes she was But we just We realized that even at you know Eight and now she's nine It was too much It was too much for her But I will say I mean, for Christmas, my mom got Smith an electric scooter after I repeatedly told her no. Wow. Because he's like me. He is the klutziest human being on the face of the planet. So you actually said. And we haven't opened it yet. I said, I don't really think that's a good idea. I don't really know about this one. And then lo and behold, he opened it on Christmas Eve.

00:32:41 - 00:32:44 | Speaker 2:

You told her specifically no. Please don't. Yeah. Wow.

00:32:45 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 3:

So Google says you got to wait until at least eighth grade. But I will say I was much younger when I got my cell phone. Granted, it was not a smartphone, but I do think one of the missing factors here is parents who are divorced. A lot of people don't have home phones anymore, and when you have kids that share a household, it's the only way to stay in contact with both parents.

00:33:05 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what? But mom and dad should be making that decision, not grandma.

00:33:09 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 3:

Mom and dad totally agreed with you on that one. But I feel like sometimes mom and dad always don't see eye to eye on this one either. All right.

00:33:17 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 2:

I want to take calls on this. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Here's the thing I want you to call about, though. What did grandma or grandpa or auntie or uncle buy for your kids that you had to say no to? Because it was just too much. In this case, obviously, the cell phone. Shannon's case, the electric scooter. 844-665-6548.

00:33:41 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:38:58 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:38:59 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll get some information in here.

00:39:03 - 00:39:20 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Mornings, live.

00:39:22 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Mornings show. So we were just talking just a few moments ago about how a friend of mine's mom bought their daughter, his daughter, this mom's, you know, grandma or grandchild, a cell phone. And the question was asked just before the 5 of 6.55, what is it that grandma or grandpa bought for your kids that you had to say, all right, nope, can't do it. You're taking it back. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. or if you text, we're calling you because I want to get you on the phone. There's some really good text up there, Lydia. We've got to get some of those. including the person that bought a gun oh my god stacy yes hey we're good what's going on

00:40:08 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 4:

i have a perspective that i think sometimes people need to reflect on this is from a mom that raised children and had amazing parents parents try so hard to do everything so right that grandparents have done it and if you respect your parents sometimes you need to step back and say okay why would my parent do this so the cell phone it's a big thing but they're trying to nurture a relationship between a grandparent and a child and me going through life that's one of my greatest relationships was with my grandparents yes you should have had a discussion with the parents but the parents sometimes need to relax and sometimes i agree to disagree on a lot of a

00:40:51 - 00:40:57 | Speaker 6:

A lot of things except for the phone. Because the phone brings about so many other issues with kids.

00:40:57 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay, but I think parents coddle their kids so much, and then you let them go, and they're going to fall. You need to let them fall.

00:41:04 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 6:

But at seven years old, nope. No phone. That's a big one at seven.

00:41:10 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 1:

Here's the thing. I think grandmas and grandpas have to be the safe zone. I feel like in our case with our kids, chelsea's parents are the only grandparents that my kids have kind of really gotten a chance to know they knew my dad but my dad was really not a hands-on grandpa and chelsea's grandma and grandpa are the grandparents that always have always said when mom and dad say no grandma and papa say yes but they would never disrespect you know chelsea or myself with some of the things that they would do i think you have to like you know otherwise you're gonna you're gonna raise a brat so i think that in certain cases i think that grandma needs probably to you know in this case especially she needs a boundary yeah she needs a little bit of a boundary like candy slime toys

00:41:57 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 6:

whatever i get that it might piss me i know slime slime it might get you only slime in grandma's house overall it's harmless i'm just saying something is because a phone it's like god that opens the door to so many other things uh dominga

00:42:12 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 3:

hello hi what did grandpa buy your kids she he bought my daughter an ipad for her first present at six months old an ipad at six months old yeah she was six that was eight years ago yeah

00:42:30 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 1:

yeah did he not understand the idea though about you know it's going to take a while for her to

00:42:36 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 3:

figure out how to use that it was the first grandbaby so he was like obsessed with her yeah but i was caught by surprise i'm like um an ipad at six months i don't know about that yeah that's

00:42:51 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 1:

funny by the way at that point right there it's not the same as the buying the phone just so you can communicate back and forth that is that that is grandpa who probably went to the store and had

00:43:00 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 6:

no idea what to buy you know what i mean the sad part is by the time that baby is old enough to use the ipad they're gonna have to buy a different version yeah uh jody what's happening it's mojo

00:43:10 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 1:

in the morning good morning guys good morning now this was not a grandparent who was this

00:43:15 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 2:

it was my uncle my mom's brother and you know he's the beer drinker of the family so it was my daughter's seventh birthday and we had the birthday party for her and she opens it up and It was a BB gun.

00:43:28 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez.

00:43:32 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Never less to say, like, my parents, they live up north. So at the time they lived here, but now they live up north. So we saved that, and now we took her up there, and then she has pretty good aim. We set up a target, and now she's 16. Good for her.

00:43:48 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 1:

But you didn't let her have it at that time, though, right?

00:43:52 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 2:

Not at that time, no. I waited until about 10 years old, and then she got some practice up north using it.

00:43:56 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Lori, hi.

00:43:59 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how are you?

00:44:00 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 1:

Good. This was your son's uncle, your brother that bought your son something very interesting?

00:44:07 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 5:

My daughter. He bought my daughter a fishing boat.

00:44:12 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 1:

A fishing boat. Oh. A boat, like an actual boat, like a big boat. Mike's like, bring it on. Yeah, yeah, I'll take that.

00:44:19 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 5:

A fishing boat.

00:44:21 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And how old was your daughter?

00:44:24 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 5:

Nine.

00:44:25 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 1:

She was nine years old.

00:44:26 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 5:

And how much did that cost you long-term? It's still sitting in the driveway. We haven't used it.

00:44:32 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Wait, oh, so this is reason.

00:44:34 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 5:

Scrap it.

00:44:35 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was he? Yeah. How long ago was it?

00:44:39 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 6:

Say that again. Three years ago.

00:44:41 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 1:

Three years ago.

00:44:42 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, girl, get on Facebook Marketplace and make some money.

00:44:44 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Although your daughter has to sign off on the, I don't know, the registration of the thing.

00:44:52 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was about $6,000 when we looked it up. Oh, my God.

00:44:55 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

he wants her to be a fisherman

00:45:00 - 00:45:03 | Speaker 3:

He wants her hanging out at Bass Pro Shop. I like that.

00:45:04 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 2:

Something she'll never forget, right?

00:45:05 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Michelle, what's happening?

00:45:09 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning.

00:45:10 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. This is the grandma, guys. This is the grandma that buys everything for the grandkids.

00:45:17 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm one of them grandmas that I probably, well, my daughter has given me boundaries, but I'm not, I guess, a respectful grandparent. I look at it like this. There are things that I wish I could have done when my little ones were small that, for financial reasons, I couldn't. So I want to afford my grandbabies every opportunity. I feel like I missed the mark for my own kids, and I get them anything. They have cash apps. I send them money. I door dash lunch to school. You name it, I do it. Me and my daughter have lots of trouble with this, but when I get them something that's over her boundaries, she takes it away. So, and puts it away, she'll sell it, she'll give it back to me, and that's the end of that. But it hasn't deterred me from being a more respectful, I guess, daughter to my daughter. But can't you spoil the grandkids while still staying within the boundaries of what mom has set? Well, I guess, yes. But that's no fun. She's like, I guess, but I'm not doing it. I do love the fact that you did call in to say that you don't respect boundaries. I love it. I love that you're standing behind it. My grandkids call me extra. You know, I mean, if there's some crazy thing, like I went on a field trip with my grandkids and we booked out of the field trip. I drove them home. We were down in Detroit and we went and I don't even have a Facebook or a TikTok, but I took my grandkids in there, my little group, and we did TikToks all over Detroit.

00:46:49 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what did the school think about you taking off from the field trip?

00:46:54 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, we could sign out. They had permission beforehand. So it was planned, and we went on the phone number, and we went to the Coney.

00:47:02 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Can I call you grandma, and can I call you from time to time for an item that I would like to have?

00:47:09 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, within boundaries. Oh, within boundaries.

00:47:17 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 3:

Annette just did this. Annette bought her five-year-old granddaughter a phone, And how did that go over with mom and dad? I don't know if it was your son or daughter.

00:47:28 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 1:

It was my daughter. My granddaughter, she's five, and I bought her a cell phone. But, I mean, my daughter didn't say anything.

00:47:41 - 00:47:46 | Speaker 2:

What do you think a five-year-old needed a cell phone for versus an iPad or other tablet?

00:47:47 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 1:

To keep in contact. She loves to call me. And she always sends me all these emojis, the smiling faces, and the stars. And I get about 20 texts from her every day. Okay.

00:48:03 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 3:

Does she send you poop emojis?

00:48:06 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 1:

Probably sometimes, yeah.

00:48:08 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

Probably sometimes.

00:48:09 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 1:

You know, she's five. But still, she loves to call me, and she loves to take pictures. And these days, I mean...

00:48:18 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 3:

And you never ask for permission? To buy her that phone? Do you feel like you have to ask for permission or no?

00:48:26 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:48:27 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 3:

No? All right. I'm not crossing you, by the way.

00:48:31 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm Oma. I'm allowed to do this.

00:48:35 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 3:

Oma. I love it.

00:48:37 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Omas are allowed to do this.

00:48:39 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:48:40 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 1:

Germans are allowed to do this.

00:48:42 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 3:

At any point, did you ever wish that you didn't give your five-year-old grandchild a phone because they were annoying the crap out of you?

00:48:50 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

No. No. No.

00:48:52 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:48:53 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 1:

No, not really.

00:48:54 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, thank you for the call.

00:48:57 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 1:

You're welcome.

00:48:57 - 00:49:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself. By the way, the last two grandmas that we talked to were never going to change their opinion on this.

00:49:03 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 1:

They do not give two cares. They don't care.

00:49:05 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 3:

They've already been there, done that, and they're not going to actually be changed.

00:49:09 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

15 or less on Mojo in the Morning. It's Shannon's Dirty on the 30. But first.

00:49:13 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever been not invited to a party and they were all talking about it in front of you? coming up here next on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We're going to talk about that. Plus, Ed Sheeran tickets are on the way. Don't go anywhere. Your chance to win within the next 20 minutes.

00:49:29 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 2:

More Mojo in minutes.

00:49:32 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 3:

00:50:00 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 1:

to school you know we're trying to figure out what coat that they don't want to wear today because the temperature is only like 33 degrees as we wake up this morning it's freaking cold i thought we were putting all those winter coats and everything away um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 95th color right now has a chance to win go to our naughty mom's night out i want to give you some details about that uh naughty mom's night out is happening may the 12th it's gonna be at the daxton hotel in beautiful downtown birmingham uh we thank those guys so much for being so great to us and letting us host our big event there uh they have such a great location like first off it's unbelievable uh hotel i've not been in with their rooms but i was on their website at daxton hotel.com and the rooms look like rooms that i would not want to like leave like you know how it's funny like you you know you stay at certain hotel all i want to do is i want to go downstairs for the breakfast at the hampton inns you know and stuff like that yeah give me the free breakfast and uh and you know and then in the daxton hotel which said nice like this is like it's a beautiful five star it's like i just want to stay in the room or if they have a i've i have never taken a tub bath as a grown ass man with my wife. We've not tub bathed together. What? I don't know if you know this. I'm rather large. Stop. And if we were both in the bathtub together, it'd be uncomfortable for Chelsea. But they have the most beautiful bathrooms ever. It would be like one of those things where, and I don't ever do mirror selfies or bathroom selfies. I'd probably start doing them. Oh man, we gotta get you in one of those rooms just so you can take a bathroom selfie. Yeah, I really want to. I told them I said, here's the deal. After we get done Naughty Moms, I'm going to do a staycation for Chelsea and I where we're just going to, like, go and stay in a hotel room and stuff and do this. I love doing that. And they were like, oh, that's cool. It's cool. It's a cool idea for anybody that's, you know, listening local or if you're in Grand Rapids or Toledo and you're looking for a place to go stay. Here we go, winner. Alyssa, are you a mom? Yes, I am. Hello. Hello. How are you? Good morning. I'm good. Long-time listener, often caller. How are you guys doing? I love it. Yeah. You know what? The first-time callers always get the air horn. The long-time listeners and the often callers, we love you guys. Well, I love you. And now where are you from? I'm from Warren. And how many children do you have? I have two. We're getting you into this thing. Congratulations to you. How old are the kids? Oh, thank you. They are three and a half and two. Oh, jeez. Oh, you are. You need some rest. I'm going to be wild. And a drink. I warn you, I will be wild. I need three. This is our mojo in the morning. F them kids. Naughty mom's night out. Sign me up. You're in.

00:53:00 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 1:

So you and a girlfriend, figure out who you want to bring. It's Friday night, May the 12th. You got in, okay? Amazing. Thank you guys so much. Everybody else, please keep listening because we'll have another shot for you to win. What time do we decide on this one, KP? Did we decide on that? Or are we doing a second one today? Or Naughty Moms? Yeah. We can do whenever. We can do it in the 8 o'clock. What do you guys think? 8 o'clock hour? Yeah. Let's do 9. 9 o'clock hour. Because we're busy 8 o'clock. Oh, yes, right. We got a second date and stuff like that. I can see that. 9 o'clock will probably be a good one. So be with us. So we'll give you another shot to win coming up later this morning. Naughty Moms 9 out. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. It was our son Jacob's birthday on Friday. And Chelsea and I drove to Chicago right after the show Took him and all of his friends out for their birthday And then we ended up staying in a hotel room And then woke up the next morning and drove all the way back And it was funny because everybody kept writing really nice comments On the pictures that I posted on Friday You can see them on Instagram and Facebook Of Jacob And there's some really cool pictures I actually was trying to get some stuff because Chelsea has no pictures with our kids. Where'd they all go? Oh, you mean with the kids? Because she was taking all the pictures. Yeah, she takes all the pictures. So I got some really cool pictures of her and Jake. He was a cute, chunky baby. Oh, he's the best. He's so damn cute. And he's cute now, too, but he's not as chunky. He doesn't eat very much. He actually said something that, to me, made me think he's not my kid. He said on Friday when we were eating these amazing nachos in Chicago at Hub 51, He said, if I could take a pill to never have to eat ever again in my life, I would. And I looked at him and I said, who are you? We are not related. Who are you? And how did you get here at this table right now? Because there's not a person in our family, both myself and Chelsea's side. that doesn't love food. I mean, I love food. But we met his friends, got to hang out with his friends. And something interesting happened while we were there. So people were writing comments saying, oh, enjoy Chicago this weekend. That's so cool. You and Chels and, you know, Jacob having fun. We wanted to stay the whole weekend. So, like, we wanted to, like, spend Saturday there and, like, take him shopping and go out for another dinner on Saturday night. And then on Sunday, do like maybe breakfast or brunch or something like that and then go back home and then drive back home. But we didn't. And I couldn't figure out exactly what it was, if it was that we were so busy that we couldn't do this and we had to go back home or what the story was. And then I found out from Chelsea right before we were going that Jacob's friends were all planning a party for him for his birthday, but it was going to be on Saturday night. And I said, oh, that's great. So why don't we stay for the party? And she goes, we're not invited. And I said, what do you mean we're not invited?

00:55:59 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 1:

She goes, it's just a kid party. Or not a kid party, but they're grown adults. Yeah, it's just a friend's party. And I said, how dare they? Do they not know that they could have Mojo from Mojo in the morning? No. I'm sure that was the first thing that crossed my mind.

00:56:15 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I get it. Yes. I get it. I totally understand where you might be a little disappointed. But I think if you're going to go out with your friends and have a really good time, if parents show up, nobody's going to get as loose as they were going to get.

00:56:29 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 1:

These guys got loose on Friday. I'll show you the bill to show you the drinks that they were having. Seriously, I was putting them in Ubers at the end of the night because I was so worried about them walking home. I mean, these guys know how to party in front of parents. But I guess the whole thing was that it's Jacob's friends that he goes to school with. And they throw these wild parties. And they probably, who knows? they probably do like massive amounts of who knows what but i love that he had to tell you you are not invited well no it was chelsea that told me because chelsea was and chelsea was fine with it like she thinks it's great when our kids exclude us from things i don't think that it's great but have you ever then they're then at the dinner era at the table at hub 51 they're talking about the party and everything they're having at the party and i felt so left out and i asked this question has anybody ever had someone throw a party not invite you and then talk about the party right in front of you like have you guys ever had that happen to you with with friends of yours where your friends throw your friends throwing a party and they talk about it either on purpose or an accident in front of you and you're like you know the feeling that you have when you know you're excluded it was like gym class all over again for me yeah birthday parties every year on this show. Oh, my God.

00:57:46 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 2:

Why did you even bring up this topic? I swear to you, this guy.

00:57:50 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying. You wait. You wait. I don't want one.

00:57:54 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 3:

Shut that tramp up. Sounds like you do.

00:57:57 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 1:

We're going to figure something out for this guy. But, okay, so it's like Mike's thing. How did you feel, Mike?

00:58:04 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 2:

It hurts.

00:58:05 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 1:

It hurts. And then you remember that forever, and you hold a grudge forever. Oh, where, where, where? Yeah, no, but it does kind of like make you feel weird right when somebody's talking about something or or what what makes you feel weirder when somebody's talking about a party that they're going to or somebody's talking about

00:58:22 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 2:

a party they went to oh party they went to oh see I say going to because then I still have the anticipation of that day happening and I'm not going to be there not knowing that it even happened

00:58:34 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 1:

is worse I mean there have been times when these you know all you guys have gone out with each other or gone out for dinners or whatever stuff and I wasn't part of it and there are times where I or events I mean I listen there are times where you go oh okay so I guess but to be perfectly honest with you you guys know how I am you'd rather be sitting I'd rather be sitting home but when you know you weren't at least asked you kids weird and and remember the remember the feeling that happened to you Megan when KP and Lydia and Lydia yes when they were they've hung out the first time or whatever yeah that got

00:59:09 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 2:

No, all of the country concerts. At the Forbes Under 30 event.

00:59:13 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was so disrespectful that y'all invited everybody on the show under 30 except for me.

00:59:18 - 00:59:30 | Speaker 2:

I was like, all right, cool, cool, cool, cool. I feel super old. I'm not going to emphasize the Forbes Under 30. She was 30. I was 29 when it happened. Oh, that's. Wait, no, that's not true. No, you weren't. You were 30. Yes, I was.

00:59:30 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 1:

No, because KP didn't start until after July and you were.

00:59:33 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 3:

No, I started in September. Oh, yeah.

00:59:35 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 1:

You were 30.

00:59:37 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 3:

Math is hard. That's why I work on radio.

00:59:39 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 1:

But you were just on that cusp. It was like the kid going into Cedar Point and wasn't tall enough.

00:59:47 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. Can we go back just a second? Did you say that you wanted to go to something country and I cut you off?

00:59:52 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I was being facetious, which is a big word for me, but kidding. Joking, joking. That was actually.

00:59:57 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Next time, Megan, we are going to go to a country concert.

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't want to hear one complaint. Oh, you won't, because I don't want to be there.

01:00:04 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 5:

Actually, I will pay for Megan's ticket just to make her have to sit through a country concert, KP. Absolutely not.

01:00:11 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 4:

Unless, unless, unless it's Luke Bryan, because rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey. Whiskey makes my girl a little frisky. Who wouldn't want to listen to those lyrics, guys? Poetry. Country artists.

01:00:23 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, when I saw you guys at the Luke Combs concert, and I know we're going to talk about this this morning, But I got a little jealous Because everybody looked like they were having a blast

01:00:31 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 2:

I feel like everybody I know went to that concert People I didn't even know where country music fans Were at that concert posting about it

01:00:38 - 01:00:41 | Speaker 5:

Kim wants to be voice disguised Kim, hi

01:00:41 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 1:

Good morning

01:00:42 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 5:

We're talking about when you weren't invited To the party

01:00:47 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's not necessarily a party It's more like family vacations My mother-in-law does this

01:00:52 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 5:

Wait, your mother-in-law will Take people on family vacations but not take you?

01:00:59 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she'll say, oh, we're going on a family vacation. And then I'm not invited. And then she'll proceed to talk about it in front of me. And then she'll talk about it afterwards when they get home.

01:01:09 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that's messed up.

01:01:11 - 01:01:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she says, oh, you know, you're part of the family. You're like my other daughter. And then they'll go on family vacations and I'm not invited.

01:01:18 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

Wait, why doesn't your husband step in there?

01:01:23 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 1:

It's been an ongoing battle between him and I. You need a new husband. You do.

01:01:32 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that, by the way, is weird when they'll do that. Well, they'll do a family vacation, take the other kids' families, but not take your kid. It makes you wonder if they just don't like you. Well. Obviously. You don't have to wonder. Yeah. What's going on, Caitlin? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:01:53 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hi. How are you guys this morning? Good morning. Good.

01:01:56 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 5:

What's going on with you?

01:01:57 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 3:

And so I don't mind friends and family doing that because, you know, things get busy in your life, whatever. But when coworkers do it, I feel like that's the worst.

01:02:08 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 5:

It is tough, isn't it? How about this? When you hear coworkers talk about either a party that they went to all together or they go to lunch and don't invite you. And then you find out when they came back from lunch that they all were with each other.

01:02:23 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 3:

I've had managers do that. I used to work at a hotel, third shift, and they would schedule these events knowing that I couldn't go because I was sleeping during the day, so I could stay up all night so they could have a normal sleep shift. Wow.

01:02:38 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah, that's strong.

01:02:41 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 3:

And then in the morning, they'll be like, oh, hey, how was your night? I was like, I don't know. I just dealt with a bunch of drunks. How was yours? Great. We were a bunch of drunks. I was like, oh, that's nice.

01:02:51 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:02:52 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 4:

And I went in the parking lot and slashed all your tires.

01:02:54 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 5:

tires don't do that by the way because we do not want to get away from that now i'm working the day shift so oh good okay i thought she said recently she got away from slashing tires amanda what's happening am i supposed to voice this guys amanda i i think i might yes amanda right you want voice guys yeah amanda what's the story we're talking about not being invited

01:03:18 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 1:

um so i work in retail and i have the problem with my co-workers hanging out outside of work without me um they have a whole like group chat without me but it's i'm friends with most of them it's just there's one person who created the group chat that doesn't like me so it's really hard because most of them are my friends except the one person but they'll talk about it like in front of me like if they're planning like a potluck they'll be like oh i don't know what i should bring to the potluck and stuff like that and i'm like can you please just stop bringing it up like it's just rude to bring it up in front of me and deliberately like it it's just really like mean girl and like immature have you ever have you guys ever had that where you like so

01:04:05 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 6:

you have a group chat and then you find out that somebody in that group chat doesn't like you

01:04:09 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 5:

yeah that's probably when you find out right when they don't uh when they don't invite you or are you talking about they actually verbalize or write a text verbally you've never i've had somebody

01:04:19 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 6:

recently uh i'm not gonna say who it is uh verbalize that they do not like me in that group chat and every time i send pictures in that group chat they get very upset about it and i want to call them out so bad about it i haven't yet but i want to so bad but why do you even have to call

01:04:36 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 2:

them out if they already said that to you um you mean to everybody else yeah i feel like i need to

01:04:42 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 6:

just leave the group chat yeah time wow that's is it a group chat you have to be in for work or

01:04:48 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

something it's well sure okay is it our group chat sure oh wait no no nobody said that they don't like your pictures in our group chat have they i'm not gonna do this

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 4:

right now this is this is a probably another meeting that we need to have but wow i've not

01:05:04 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 1:

i've not seen that at all yeah is it our group chat no no no oh it's but it's somebody in your it's somebody in your buildings group chat it's a group chat it's a work group chat okay

01:05:17 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 4:

interesting at first i'm thinking to myself uh wow i missed that that would have talked about

01:05:24 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 3:

that right away if that was us uh britney what's going on hi hi what's happening i'm calling uh i'm calling because my mother-in-law took all of the grandkids to disney world but my two little girls who have been there before and were obsessed with it and she told them about it that she was taking all the kids but them and then when they got back she was like showing them pictures and telling them. That's cruel.

01:05:50 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 1:

Why not your daughters? Because she's the devil.

01:05:56 - 01:05:57 | Unknown:

I don't know why.

01:05:58 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 1:

Was it because they've been there before and the other ones haven't? Or was there a specific reason?

01:06:05 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 3:

No, the other ones have all been there. They've all been to Disney. Oh, wow. We got the VIP tour. We got right on the rides. And my kids are like, what? Why couldn't we go? Wow.

01:06:17 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 4:

What did your husband say about that? That was his mom, right?

01:06:23 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was just like, oh, my mom's a saint. Don't blame her. She probably, you know, could only take so many. I'm like, all the parents were going, though. That doesn't make any sense.

01:06:32 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Ooh, you and that other caller should go to the bar and get new husbands.

01:06:35 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what is going on? It's fun now. This is now my ex-husband. Oh, my God.

01:06:41 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 4:

Let me ask you a question. Which Disney villain best describes your ex-mother-in-law?

01:06:47 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, Cruella? Yeah.

01:06:50 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 4:

I like it. All right. Well, thank you for the call. That is just so mean. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon has everything that's trending in the Dirty on the 30 right now.

01:07:02 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 1:

Bud Light Marketing VP Alyssa Heinerside has taken a leave of absence amid the ongoing controversy over the brand's decision to bring on transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney as an ambassador. This story has been going on for a couple of weeks now. That move sparked a boycott and knocked $6 billion from the company's value. So this girl was like, I'm out for a little bit. She is being replaced by the VP of global marketing for Budweiser. His name is Todd Allen. Somebody else who's out, NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Schell has been fired after admitting to having an inappropriate relationship with a woman at the company. He was there for more than two decades, oversaw NBCUniversal's news and entertainment division sports production theme parks and streaming operations the female staffer that he was in a relationship with eventually filed a complaint an independent investigation was launched jeff admitted to the affair and he is gone as of yesterday megan trainer is apologizing for a comment she made on her podcast essentially saying f teachers she and her co-host were talking about the failures of the American education system. Well, now she's saying her,

01:08:15 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. Teachers of TikTok and teachers of the world. I recently said F teachers on a podcast and it's not how I feel. I was fired up because we were talking about how sending your kid to school here in America is so horrific and what all of us have to go through, but especially teachers

01:08:34 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 1:

is not normal and not okay. She said this was not a blanket statement for all teachers. she was talking about very specific teachers.

01:08:44 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 2:

I had just Chepedas on the podcast, and I knew her history with her teachers. And I knew my husband's history with his teachers, and I was bullied by some teachers. So in that moment, I got angry and said, F teachers, F those specific human beings back in the day. But I did not mean that to all teachers.

01:09:02 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she said she has so much praise and respect for teachers.

01:09:07 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 2:

I love teachers. I fight for teachers. I think they have the hardest job, and they're the most underpaid. They're the most unappreciated when they literally raise all of us. I don't want to make excuses. I'm just so sorry. I'm so sorry to any teachers who I made feel bad.

01:09:22 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Guess who's doing a free concert for some teachers? Oh, absolutely.

01:09:25 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Right, she should. That would be smart. Putting a foot in the mouth. And lastly, it finally happened, something we knew was going to happen since the beginning of the year. Bed Bath & Beyond has filed for bankruptcy. see chapter 11 protection this depresses me yeah steady declines in both customers and profits and they took a whole bunch of steps to try to avoid this happening they closed a bunch of stores they cut jobs they secured bank and investor loans to keep the company afloat but all of their turnaround efforts eventually just fell short so the announcement also noted that 360 bed bath Thank you.

01:10:00 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Beyond, 360, excuse me, Bed, Bath & Beyond stores and 120 Bye Bye Baby stores and websites will remain open throughout the bankruptcy process. But if you have a gift card, for example, or store credit, make sure you use it by the end of the first week of May, I believe, because after then, it's worth nothing.

01:10:21 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 3:

So this is what I heard for those that are getting married. if you're getting married and you have a registry at Bed Bath & Beyond it still will be okay because it will be all online that they'll still do the online service of that and their hope is that if they fulfill all the registries that they have right now that they also might be able to get somebody to take Bed Bath & Beyond's name and take it further is either an online store in itself or do it as a standalone store You know, their problem was they had a CEO that never got with the times and they never jumped online and never embraced the whole selling stuff online. And they got completely passed by.

01:11:02 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

They were overpriced. Yeah, very much so. Just so you have the specifics. So Bed Bath & Beyond by My Baby going to honor coupons through April 26th. So that's what? Wednesday. They're going to accept gift cards through May 8th. And then they're going to process returns and exchanges until May 24th. So get on all of that stuff. 01:11:25 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 3:

Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Sometimes you just happen upon the best service ever, and we want to shout them out. So if you've gone somewhere and had like the best service ever, we want you to call up and shout that person out. It's kind of a feel-good Monday to be able to shout somebody out that maybe you had over the weekend. Megan's going to start this off because of the server that you had at a restaurant.

01:11:58 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I'd love to give her a shout-out if that's cool. Yes. Taylor from the Blarney was absolutely amazing this weekend. Obsessed with her. Actually, I think I slightly fell in love with her. But we had her. We, as in my dad, my brother, and I went out to dinner this weekend. We had her as a server. And I don't even know how this happened, but my dad was like, if you really want to impress us, every time you come back to the table, you'll have a different accent. Because she was just fun and silly or whatever. And every single time this girl came back to our table, she committed 100% with either a Russian accent, Australian. She came back with a British accent, a French accent, Italian, everything. At the end, she just started speaking Italian to us. I think she went in the back and started Googling goodbye phrases. It was so great. We had the best time of our lives, all because we had truly the best server in the entire world. We had an absolute blast.

01:12:54 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 3:

So how did your dad come up with every time you come back to the table, you know, have a different accent thing?

01:13:00 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 1:

I truly don't even know. But she was just, you ever, you ever been in a silly mood with people? And then maybe you're sitting at a table and your server just like doesn't get it and is kind of irritated with you. And they're like, just, I'm busy. Get to the point. Which I understand. And sometimes you can be in the weeds. Sometimes it's frustrating to have a goofy table when you've got a million things to do. But she just, like, at one point sat down at our table with us, was goofing around, just had a good time. She was just there to have a good time, and we truly appreciate her. So I don't know exactly how it came up other than I think she started talking in a British accent at one point.

01:13:36 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 3:

Do you like when servers sit at your table? Because I have to be honest with you, I'm not happy with that.

01:13:41 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 1:

I did for her. I would say most of the time, no, but I really enjoyed her.

01:13:45 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

I would say it very much depends. Yeah.

01:13:48 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 3:

There's some times where a server will sit there and she'll like sit over, you know, push you over to the side and it gets a little annoying. But if she's friendly like Taylor was, then you're okay with it. Yeah.

01:13:59 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:14:00 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Then you're good with it.

01:14:00 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 1:

I mean, we go there every single week pretty much. And she was just the first time we had had her and she was a blast.

01:14:06 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 3:

All right. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 844-665-48. Shout out the great customer service that you got. So Lydia, I want, and people are going to text us. I know they're going to, but I think you got, there's nothing like shouting them out verbally more so than just a text message. I mean, we can read them. That's fine. But here's the thing. If you call us up, actually, we do have, I've got like 10 open lines right now. 844-665-6548 but if you like say hey I just want to say hello to and you know thank you to so and so who just made my day special you know what that will do for them in this day and age of people being angry all the time and the negativity that they face these people in customer service business or the people that go on and they're I I, I...

01:15:00 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Tell you what, the keyboard craziness is going nuts nowadays with the people that are just so angry on social media. It's just nuts. Can I shout somebody out? And actually, KP, I was meaning to say that she said hello to you. But we went to over the weekend, we went to a birthday party for sweet little Brooke. She's our cute neighbor, Brittany and John's kids. I talk about them all the time. Chelsea and I like want to kidnap her. We love her so much. They had a birthday party at this place. I've never been to it before in my life And I thought to myself it was going to be horrendous To have to go to this thing It was so much fun But I want to shout out Amy at the Fairytale Fun Place Oh I love Amy In Clarkston So basically it's like Chuck E. Cheese with Fairytale characters and superheroes So it's like instead of having A rat that's serving you pizza You could have You could have like Princess Anna or somebody that's not supposed to be Princess Anna but is like...

01:16:02 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 9:

I didn't know she had a place. I knew that you could rent, or not rent, but you could book the characters and stuff to come to your house or party or whatever. Yeah, they got everything.

01:16:09 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 1:

And Amy said that KP was one of the best princesses that she's ever had.

01:16:13 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what princesses did you play? I played everyone. I was everyone. And I was telling Lydia this yesterday. I didn't just play princesses. I was Jojo the Clown. I was everyone. Oh, really? Oh, my gosh, yeah. I played Wonder Woman. Do you know how to do ballooning moves? Oh, yeah, I could twist balloon animals. I could face paint, we dance, we sing. Oh, yeah.

01:16:30 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 1:

I asked her if I could be a superhero for her, and Amy's kind of like, I got to go. There's a party that's about ready to walk in here right now. She's not into it. All right, so let's shout them out. Let's shout them out right now. Hold on a second. Let me get some music here for you. Kayla, are you there? Hi, Kayla. Yes. Hi, Kayla. How you doing?

01:16:50 - 01:16:50 | Speaker 3:

Good.

01:16:50 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, did you have a good weekend?

01:16:52 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 3:

I did.

01:16:53 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. Shout out the best customer service.

01:16:58 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Best customer service was my birthday weekend. We were at the Cheesecake Factory in Flaris, Columbus.

01:17:05 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:17:06 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 3:

And they were really busy. And so our waitress did such a phenomenal job. We didn't tell her it was my birthday or anything. So then when we told her at the very end, she was really surprised. We gave her a really nice tip and everything as well.

01:17:18 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 1:

That's incredible. She was amazing. And what was it? It was Kayla from the Cheesecake Factory, right?

01:17:26 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:17:27 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 1:

And this is Emily that's saying that. That's awesome. Alicia, who do you want to shout out?

01:17:32 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 5:

I want to shout out Jazzy over in Wyoming, Michigan, Applebee's. She was phenomenal. Introduced herself, cheerful, just amazing. We loved having her.

01:17:41 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 1:

Did she even do a smiley face on the bill when she handed it to you? She did. When they smiley face on the bill, you know that they're good, right?

01:17:51 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes, she was amazing. We really appreciated having her.

01:17:54 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea, who are we shouting out for best customer service?

01:17:57 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 4:

I want to shout out Jerry. He's at the Home Depot in Pontiac. We're doing a kitchen renovation, and he spent two and a half hours on a Sunday evening working with us. Wow. There was no other time that we could fit with both of our work schedules. So he was just lovely and patient and not pushy as a, you know, doing sales. So it was great.

01:18:18 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. I'm Jerry from the Pontiac Home Depot. Let's go to Amanda. Amanda, who are we shouting out?

01:18:26 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 7:

We're shouting out Lawrence from Carana Auto Care in Hazel Park, Michigan.

01:18:30 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 1:

All right. And why is Lawrence from Carana Auto Care the best?

01:18:36 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. He's so patient, especially being a girl at a mechanic shop. I had no idea what to ask for. He was just so patient with me and honestly gave us the best service. And I called my dad after. I'm like, did I do this right? And it was all, like, stars, five stars all around. All right.

01:18:52 - 01:18:59 | Speaker 8:

I just feel like an idiot when I'm trying to recreate the sounds my car is making. But when the mechanic really listens, I really appreciate that.

01:18:59 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 1:

When I go into, like, an auto parts place, I never know what the things are called. I know. Oh, I know nothing. The guys that work at Murray's by my house are the guys that laugh at me all the time. Because they look at me like, it's what? And I go, you know, the thing that goes there? You know, yeah, I don't know the thing that's called there. Let's go to Judith. Judith had good service at Airborne Trampoline. Is that right?

01:19:27 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, there was this guy named Brady, and he was amazing. He was, like, just running around, like, being cool with all the kids. But there was this one kid that some of the kids weren't being very nice to, and he was disabled. And Brady was, like, so cool with this kid. And, like, just, I don't know. Like, his patience level is amazing for these other kids.

01:19:45 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to tell you, if you work at a trampoline place with all these rotten kids these days that are there, you've got to have patience, right?

01:19:56 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I know, but some of these people don't, but he did, and I was super impressed.

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible. Bianca wants to shout out somebody from the Olive Garden. Is that right?

01:20:05 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I would like to shout out Anthony from the Olive Garden and Warren. Probably the best waiter I have ever had in my whole entire 30 years of living. Explain.

01:20:14 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 3:

Explain why. I want to know what makes him the best waiter.

01:20:18 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 5:

He's just so nice. Like, he makes you feel like you're part of the family. Like, he knows your name every time you come in. You just got to tell him at once, and he'll remember it the next time. How fast is he? Everybody with my friends and family.

01:20:28 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 3:

How fast is he at getting you more salad and more breadsticks?

01:20:33 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man, faster than we can even finish the first bowl. It's there. It's literally there by the time we're scooping up the next salad.

01:20:39 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 3:

And does he let you, when you do the unlimited pasta, does he let you have to-go boxes and just take a whole bunch of it home?

01:20:46 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 5:

He said it's okay, but we don't because we don't want to get him in trouble. You know, we would want to see him. Got to preserve his job.

01:20:52 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 3:

Yep. Because if that was the case, Megan's going for a road trip.

01:20:56 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh, Megan. If you go there, you will love him. I think you'll fall in love with him.

01:21:01 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 3:

Really? All right.

01:21:02 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 5:

I do love him.

01:21:05 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 3:

Crazy Nikki, Mojo in the Morning Misfit. Crazy Nikki's on the phone with us right now. Who did you want to shout out?

01:21:09 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Hi. I miss you guys.

01:21:12 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 3:

We miss you, too. What's going on, Nikki?

01:21:14 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 4:

I had a great experience in Washington Township at 26th and Van Dyke at McDonald's. It was so crazy busy. The lady was so nice, and she accepted my competitor's coupon, and it made it, like, half the price. So we love her. I don't know her name, though. I was going to tip her. Is that wrong to do?

01:21:35 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 3:

You know what? It's funny. I wonder, will they take a tip at McDonald's? Yeah, I don't know.

01:21:38 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 4:

Or do they just have you put it in a little Ronald McDonald house thing, yeah?

01:21:41 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, thing.

01:21:43 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 4:

I wonder. I know. I was like, can I tip her? And they're like, no, that's weird. Stop. And I was like, okay, but, you know, everywhere else, tips. Why can't they tip?

01:21:52 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, no, that's true. Betty, last one here. Betty, who do you want to shout out?

01:21:58 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Brett.

01:21:59 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Or Brett, I'm sorry. Hey, Brett. I'm sorry, Brett.

01:22:02 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I wanted to shout out Gina and Rachel this morning with my great Kroger delivery. They did a great job.

01:22:07 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 3:

Who was it that brought the great Kroger delivery?

01:22:10 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 1:

It was Rachel and Gina.

01:22:12 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you got double teamed for your Kroger delivery.

01:22:15 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 1:

I got double teamed this morning, it looked like, yeah. I don't know if one of them was training or something, but yep, there was two of them.

01:22:19 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. And what made them so great? Because, you know, we get delivery service all the time, and sometimes you just don't realize how great something is.

01:22:28 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 1:

I got a delivery around 6 o'clock, and just seeing their, you know, great, bright smiles early in the morning, making sure everything was all right with my order, it was just really helpful, and really was a great start to my day.

01:22:38 - 01:23:03 | Speaker 3:

I love it. That's awesome, man. Thanks so much. Thanks, guys. That was good. By the way, that was good to do that, because these people never get it. And I want to, last but not least, shout out, this is from 248, shout out Lydia and KP for always being friendly when they answer the phones. That's nice. That's nice to know that. Thank God, by the way, it's not me on those phones.

01:23:03 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 2:

It's always Lydia that's nice, by the way. Why? Are you saying that?

01:23:07 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 3:

Because I'm a jerk. You are not. You and Lydia do such a great job And you guys met so many people over the weekend too That we got to shout those people out We'll talk about that coming up in the 8 o'clock hour Mike, when we come back here next Mike needs your help Otherwise he may have to cancel his big family vacation That's on the way in second date update next

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the morning

01:23:32 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 3:

Alright, Mojo in the morning 104.5 SNX, channel 955 and 92.5 KISS FM Mike, you're getting ready to go on a family vacation. It's his family vacation just before they have this brand new baby. And it's a road trip vacation because the doctor would not allow for Mike's wife to fly and get in an airplane.

01:23:56 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:23:57 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 3:

But something might keep you from going on this vacation. And what exactly is it?

01:24:02 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 2:

the car uh is not really suitable to road trip with uh with my wife and being pregnant and honestly when i got the car a few years ago uh i wasn't planning on going on long road trips for it so as of right now i don't think this car will make it to florida and the idea i was thinking was and tell me if you guys like it maybe there's a different angle we could do with it but maybe somebody lets me use their really really luxurious nice car and then i just like give you my car for the weekend or if i have you want my ps5 you can have my collateral yes yeah yeah so you know i'm

01:24:42 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

coming back like i'll be back so so okay so we've done before the the contest on the show where we did tradeo remember that where we did uh we did the bit that we were talking about which was a pencil to a porsche where we were trying to see if we could trade an item to get an item but that was basically to keep it.

01:25:00 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that how we got the mini horse? Yeah, we ended up getting the mini horse. Actually, I need to call that girl.

01:25:05 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

We haven't checked on the mini horse in how long?

01:25:07 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 5:

The girl who calls the mini horse. No, I need it for something. Oh, okay. And it's ours.

01:25:11 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, we did that, but this one would not be tradeo. This would be like borrowing?

01:25:17 - 01:25:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, because I'll give it back. I just, honestly, I think we would make it in this car, but my wife is not going to be very comfortable. And we've had conversations where I said, you know, maybe we shouldn't go this year. And she's like, no, we need this. We got to go. They won't let me fly, but they said we could drive in a car.

01:25:34 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 5:

I bow down to Ellie for wanting to be in a car for that long, this pregnant.

01:25:39 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

She is crazy. She is crazy. Isn't this the same trip that you said you wanted a bucket in the back for the kids to go to the bathroom?

01:25:46 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 4:

No, it's an actual car potty, but we're also going like three days.

01:25:51 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 3:

Are you saying that somebody's not going to lend them their car knowing that there's going to be a poop bucket in the back?

01:25:54 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it wouldn't be for poop. I'm not, we're not, we're not pooping in the car.

01:25:59 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 5:

So what are you looking for? Like a nice, a really nice minivan or like a Tahoe or something like that? Just like a big, big SUV, Suburban.

01:26:06 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just something to, to be, so, so she's comfortable in the car. Right. You know what I mean? And I'll, like I said, I'll leave my car. I'll leave a PS5. I'll trade you whatever you want to trade. Does not matter. I, I just think that, like I said, we're going three days. So she's going to be comfortable. We're only going short spurts. But I know that my car right now, the car that I have, it's not necessarily built for road trips.

01:26:32 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 3:

And what is that car that you have again? It's a Kia Sorento?

01:26:36 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 4:

Sorento. Not Silento. No, yeah. It's a great car. Don't get me wrong. But I bought it a few years ago, and I don't think it'll make it. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's a good car. I recommend getting a brand new one. But I wouldn't take the one that I have now for a 15-hour, 16-hour road trip. Yeah.

01:26:51 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I actually appreciate Mike on this one because I appreciate the fact that he wants to take care of his family, and I also appreciate the fact that he wants his wife to be comfortable, and I kind of understand that, you know, you can't fly, which flying is expensive, but also it's expensive to try to even rent a car nowadays. It's, like, expensive to do that. Like, everything is expensive. And maybe we have, like, one of those unbelievable listeners that has a car that, you know, they don't necessarily need to be driving to and from work for, like, a week. They could drive in maybe your car. Or what does Allie drive?

01:27:32 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 4:

She's got an Acadia, a GMC Acadia. But it's, like, a 2009 or something. So you're not trusting it to make it done.

01:27:39 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, Acadia is a nice SUV. Right. I don't want anything for free.

01:27:43 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 4:

If I have to do chores at your house for a week I'll do chores at your house I don't want it for free I'll bargain with you But you just tell me what I gotta do And I'll make it happen

01:27:53 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Christina, what's going on?

01:27:56 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi, nothing

01:27:57 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Christina? You actually said that you would be part of this little Barrio that Mike wants to do

01:28:04 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

As long as my husband doesn't care Yep

01:28:08 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 3:

What do you have that you would lend him?

01:28:11 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 2:

I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

01:28:15 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. That's a nice vehicle. That's a beautiful one.

01:28:18 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 4:

Do you think it would make it to Florida and back?

01:28:19 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 2:

It is. It's really nice.

01:28:20 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's 2015. How many miles you got on it?

01:28:24 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 2:

I have under 100,000.

01:28:26 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 3:

Under 100,000.

01:28:28 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 5:

But is that going to be any comfier for Allie than your Kia Silento?

01:28:33 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 3:

Silento. I know. Honestly, Cherokee is nice. I don't know.

01:28:39 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm asking the question. I feel like he wants something big I feel like you want a minivan so she can

01:28:44 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 4:

really have Or like a larger SUV

01:28:47 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 5:

Like a big guy

01:28:49 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 4:

Where she's sitting in a luxury chair

01:28:52 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

There's a seating but it is definitely bigger Why don't you rent an RV that you can ride in?

01:29:00 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 4:

How much are those expensive?

01:29:02 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

Get her like a captain's chair

01:29:03 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 3:

That would be actually nice That's a green idea

01:29:07 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

That's what you need to do we have a lot of listeners that have RVs.

01:29:12 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, has anybody got an RV that they're not using? I mean, it's early for RV season, isn't it? What's up, Abe?

01:29:18 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning, guys. How you doing?

01:29:19 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's going on?

01:29:21 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 1:

I just have a question for Mike. I mean, he's going on the air right now trying to find somebody to trade him a car. But I know Mojo has a nice, beautiful, luxurious Tahoe.

01:29:32 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 4:

I did see that in his garage. I did see that beautiful car in his garage. Oh, crap. Is that why this

01:29:37 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 5:

topic is happening hold on why don't you just ask him hold on wait a second abe i think we got a

01:29:44 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

we got a problem here abe is there abe abe what do you well abe listen i have no problem i would lend mike in a second my tahoe to be able to use this thing and honestly

01:30:00 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 2:

I trust him. He's a great driver. Okay. You know what? Do you know how high of miles I have right now on a 12,000-mile lease?

01:30:16 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, you know, this is true of your friend. I mean, I would do it for my friend.

01:30:19 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Would you? What do you have? What do you drive?

01:30:22 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 3:

I'd have a Ram.

01:30:24 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 2:

I would like, by the way, anybody who's friends with Abe to call us up and tell us if Abe would do anything for his friends. Is he one of those?

01:30:30 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you let people borrow your Ram when they're moving?

01:30:33 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Abe, do you?

01:30:35 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It depends who. It depends how far.

01:30:39 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Actually, honestly, Mike, if you wanted to borrow my Tahoe and if you were, you know, in a jam, I'd let you use the Tahoe.

01:30:48 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 3:

I know, but it is a long drive. It's like a 15-hour. You're going to put a couple thousand miles on this car. That's why I'm not taking my car. That and comfortability for my wife. That's why we're not going.

01:30:58 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 2:

How many miles? is you're going to where? Northern Florida, right?

01:31:01 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Miramar Beach. It's about 900 and it's a little under 1,000 one way. And that's why, that's again why the Sorrento is not going is because I don't want to put a bunch of money on it or a bunch of miles on it and then I also don't want my wife to ride that far in a

01:31:14 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 2:

smaller SUV. I do have to, by the way, get the oil change. Is it for this weekend, right? You're going and leaving

01:31:21 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 3:

this weekend? Leaving Thursday afternoon and then back the following

01:31:25 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

like a week later. If nobody's got anything better, Mike, you are You're always able, as long as you plug Gordon Chevrolet the entire way down there. You have to, like, call us up and do quick little updates on how great the car is with Gordon Chevrolet. Okay. Because that's what I do. I get a good deal because I always just throw them plugs. What's going on? Tara, are you there?

01:31:48 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I am. Hi, Mike. So I have two young kids, just me and my husband. Anytime we go for a trip, we usually rent a vehicle through Costco Travel. So if you're a member at a Costco or know somebody that is. You can do that? What? They get a significant discount.

01:32:02 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 3:

Whoa. Wait, I didn't know. This is game changer. I did not know you could rent cars at Costco.

01:32:06 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

Uh-uh. Yes, that's the whole reason. That is the whole reason we have a Costco membership.

01:32:11 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 3:

Holy crap.

01:32:13 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 1:

So originally when I plugged in just random dates, I didn't know when you were going. I didn't catch that. For like five days for a minivan, those dates, it showed like $300 and some dollars. What? But the dates that you're going, even though it's still not too terribly bad, A standard SUV, like a Ford Edge, 539. I'm looking here to see if I can find, like, the minivan. Oh, you're so sweet. She's doing the research. Yeah.

01:32:36 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 2:

You're like old school travel agent.

01:32:38 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Yeah, no, I was at a train track. So you can also do very similar things through, I think, Uber now has an option. And their prices are relatively similar, if not maybe like $100 cheaper. But you go in, you put your pickup and drop off location. So for you, I just did Detroit Metro. I'm not really sure where you actually live.

01:32:56 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 2:

He's in Grand Rapids, right?

01:32:57 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So go to CostcoTravel.com. You can look and see whatever you need without having a membership number. And then if you go to book, you just need a membership. It's unlimited mileage, two drivers. You don't have to pay for the additional person. It is awesome.

01:33:10 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that is unbelievable.

01:33:12 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 1:

We just got back from a trip, and it paid for itself just with the number of crumbs, wrappers, my toddler throwing up all over the car for car sickness.

01:33:22 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you have to pay for cleanup on that or no?

01:33:26 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, it was just mostly in his car seat, so we just took the car seat off. But, no, you can just return it. So there was sand everywhere. There were crumbs everywhere. You just return it, full tank of gas, and it's like no questions asked. That's amazing.

01:33:38 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is. Would they do it through other rental car companies?

01:33:42 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry?

01:33:43 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

Is it through rental car companies?

01:33:45 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 1:

So, like, we always rent through Toledo Airport. That's the location that we pick up. So whatever they have, like if it's FFO, Enterprise, Avis, it'll show up on the website what your prices are and what your options are

01:33:56 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 2:

that's awesome Mike I love that idea thank you for that Tara that's a great piece of advice

01:34:01 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 1:

you don't pay until you pick it up

01:34:03 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 2:

love that idea we'll have to try that out thank you Stephen's also got a great idea and actually might even be funnier than you taking my car and doing that update

01:34:14 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 1:

I say you can go to U-Haul get a U-Haul van or a U-Haul truck they got new vans too

01:34:20 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 3:

well let's talk about comfort That's part of this. Think about it. You could put a living room in the back of the U-Haul. I'm not thinking that's going to be comfortable. Put a couch back there so you can lay on the couch. You can have all your stuff with you and everything.

01:34:31 - 01:34:32 | Unknown:

All your stuff and everything.

01:34:32 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate the creativity. I like that idea. I ain't coming back then. I'm moving my stuff down to Florida and staying.

01:34:38 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

You have your family in the back of the U-Haul with all your couches and your living room and all that stuff?

01:34:44 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, they got 16 passenger vans, too. I don't know how comfortable that might be. Oh, like church vans.

01:34:50 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 2:

Those are great. Those church fans are amazing.

01:34:52 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Everybody gets their own row. Everybody gets their own row.

01:34:55 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you for the...

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 1:

Steven, you've done this before, and this has worked.

01:35:02 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:35:03 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:35:04 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 2:

I've got a lot of kids. I'll put them all in the back.

01:35:07 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 1:

How many kids do you have?

01:35:09 - 01:35:10 | Unknown:

Six.

01:35:10 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

Six kids. You want to go on vacation with Mike? You pay for the car rental. He'll let you stay at his place.

01:35:16 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

If he doesn't even pay for the trip, I'll pay for the rental.

01:35:19 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 1:

Mike, this might be a great idea. Talk about Tradio. Could you imagine telling your in-laws, I'm bringing a listener with who's letting us use their car?

01:35:27 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

That'd be fun.

01:35:29 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 1:

Or how about, remember when we did the whole thing, Mike, with you, where you forgot your MacBook and the listener picked it up and then dropped it back off for you? Maybe there's a listener that just needs a ride to Florida. It's like picking up a hitchhiker, but you drive your car. I'll be Mel Jo's mule. It's Home Alone.

01:35:49 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 2:

It's dark candy.

01:35:51 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 1:

Was it Home Alone? Or is that what it was? Yeah.

01:35:53 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 2:

Wasn't it? You have to do polka the entire time.

01:35:56 - 01:35:56 | Unknown:

You have to do it.

01:35:56 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the greatest. All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone numbers 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I told you guys earlier about how we went to Chicago to go wish Jacob happy birthday and take him out for his birthday. He's our middle son. Well, our youngest son, Luke, did something for the very first time ever. And I'm not going to lie, we were a little worried about it. And some people think that we're crazy that this is the first time ever, but we left him home alone without having to have somebody watch the house and make sure that, you know, he was okay.

01:36:30 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 2:

Isn't he about to go to college?

01:36:32 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 1:

I know, Megan. Yes, he is.

01:36:34 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 2:

And this is the first time?

01:36:35 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 1:

He's 17 years old, and it's the first time that we actually left him in the house completely by himself overnight while Chelsea and I went somewhere.

01:36:45 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. That seems a little late.

01:36:47 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 1:

We're very protective parents.

01:36:49 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, I was unloved. That makes a lot of sense.

01:36:53 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 1:

But I will say this to you that I don't think the other two boys have ever had it where they were home until around this time, too. I think they were around 16, 17 years old also when we kind of, like, let them stay home with, you know, Jacob watching Luke and stuff. But we always had somebody on call to make sure that, you know, everything was okay. Yeah. So this was the wild part was I remember the first time that I was ever left by myself. And I told Chelsea when we were driving down 94 to go to Chicago, I said, do you remember that I told you a story about the time I threw the house party where Tom Barrett got two kegs and then we got a bunch of red solo cups and we sold them for a bunch of money and we made a crap load of money. And then Tom ended up, I found out, given all the girls that were blonde hotties, free, you know, red solo cups. She goes, yeah, I go, it was when I was left home for the first time ever by myself. Chelsea was like, thanks for bringing that up right now. So the entire time that Luke was home by himself, we were watching the ring cams and we were paying attention to, you know, if the alarm in our house was turned on or turned off and all the rest of that stuff. And you want to know what Luke ended up doing? going to bed by nine o'clock that night he had a golf tournament up in frankenmuth this weekend and it was an early call where he had to be at school i think at like 6 a.m and the coach told them nobody going out you can't go out and do anything you had to make sure that you're you know home and in bed and stuff and he was a little rule follower and he was a rule follower and he ended up staying home and going in not doing anything and i was a little bit honestly disappointed i was kind of but because i wanted somebody to follow in my footsteps of throwing the the party because joe and jacob also never threw a party at our joe never threw a party come on swear to you he threw parties at other people's homes but he never he was always he was always worried about having to clean up because he knows that chelsea is really super clean his mom is really super clean so i but has do you guys do you guys ever throw a party when your parents were out of town yes will you reminisce a little bit with us and tell us about like what did you guys do when your parents were out of town 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 did you throw like a wild

01:39:13 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 2:

party or have something kind of crazy happen but i always got caught because i always inevitably destroyed something like at one point we had this carpet that was under our kitchen table and i set it on fire and it also burned the floor underneath like i always got caught so what were you guys doing that lit the thing on fire um it was the call to a hookah that we were doing in the kitchen and um somebody had dropped it and i didn't realize it i had rolled under the table under

01:39:39 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 1:

the carpet set it on fire and oh my gosh megan oops wow so so you actually had you had a hookah

01:39:48 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 2:

going while you were doing this thing we ripped uh like they called i almost said scones they're sconces, right? Those are the fancy wall lights. Yeah. We ripped those off of walls. It was pretty obvious when we had friends over when my dad was at home because something was inevitably missing or broken. What was the punishment when your dad found out? I think if the house wasn't completely burned down and we were still alive, he was just like, oh, my God, you guys are the worst children in the world. But we broke the couch one time, and he sat on it. We fixed it enough where if he sat on it, it was going to break again, and we could frame him. But he didn't fall for that, and he just knew that we broke the couch and we kind of put it back together. but we truly were terrible, terrible children.

01:40:30 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 7:

Mike, you also did this too? You threw a party when your parents were out?

01:40:33 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah, but I lived in Belding, which is like a small, small farm town, so we could have people in, we had a little bit of land, so we had tons of people over. We'd have these huge bonfires, and I never got caught, except for one time I went to invite, this is when there were house phones still, I went to invite everybody to my party, and my mom picked up the other phone in the house, and I was like, hey, yeah, guys, They're on their way out the door right now. And I hear my dad yell from upstairs, he's going to his grandparents.

01:41:03 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 7:

Do you remember how you had to have a home phone and there was a couple of different phones and you could get busted with families listening in on calls?

01:41:10 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

01:41:10 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 7:

That's awesome. Yeah.

01:41:11 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 6:

I never threw a party, but my little sister did. And so my mom would go away and she hired this little, the sweetest old lady to watch us. Well, it was real easy for her to be sitting in the upstairs and not hear anything that was going on in the downstairs. and my sister was a pro at throwing parties so sometimes I would come home from work and like half of my grade would be in our living room she'd have a band set up in the corner she had people park on a separate street I mean it was pro it was never me it was always my sister but my

01:41:46 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 7:

little old lady never came downstairs to get

01:41:49 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 6:

anything sweet thing I think she was probably sleeping or I don't know never knew about it

01:41:54 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 7:

That's funny. Mojo in the morning, I want to hear about your party while your parents were out of town. What did you do? What was the party like? Explain it to us. What's up, Allison?

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:42:08 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Allison, did you throw a party while your parents left you home alone?

01:42:13 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 4:

Way too fast, yes, all the time. And I thought that I was always getting away with it. They never said anything. There was never any punishment. But very recently, I'm 30 years old now My mother informed me that every time that she would come home The dishwasher, both the top and bottom rack Was filled with all cups

01:42:33 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 6:

And you didn't know

01:42:36 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 4:

No, the house was cleaner than when she left every time So she appreciated that But she was like, oh, okay So she just drank water all weekend again, got it

01:42:46 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 7:

That's awesome Sierra, what's happening?

01:42:49 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 3:

hi i i threw a big party and i thought i got away with it and i my parents came home the next day

01:42:56 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 7:

and they found beer bottles in the toilet tank oh my gosh people actually picked up the back

01:43:01 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 3:

of the toilet and put beer bottles in there yes my friends that were helping me clean up i got through like you know stopped the toilet tank with beer bottles so i thought i was all cool the next morning until my toilet wouldn't flush, my dad found out.

01:43:17 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 7:

Oh, geez. Sheila, how you doing?

01:43:21 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm good. How are you? Good, Sheila.

01:43:23 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 7:

Now, this happened to you. Your parents left you home alone, but you ended up getting screwed?

01:43:29 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but my parents didn't find out. I don't think they did. But anyway, so I was definitely not 21, and we had a party, and my neighbors down the street, they realized my parents are home, so they called the cops. And the cops came, but we always were told, don't answer the door, you know, because you don't want them to come in and, well, I'll get MIPs and everything. So we didn't do that, but they, like, two different cop cars sat in front of my house, and they turned their spotlights on my house, and they sat out there for, like, an hour. And we wouldn't, you know, we wouldn't let them in. They were knocking on our door, and we heard our, when we still had a house phone, they called my house phone, and they were like, you guys just got to let us in. we're not gonna you know we're not mad blah blah blah and we're like you're crazy so we decided to take a vote and we told them that we voted we weren't letting them in and they couldn't come in yeah and they never i fell asleep in the bathroom we all were like hiding in my house and i fell asleep in my bathroom because you know we were all drinking of course so but i fell asleep in my bathroom and i woke up and cops were gone thank god and half of my friends hopped out the window to like run through my neighbor's yards and stuff but um that was definitely oh wow how funny that was kind of crazy because i was scared i was hiding in the yeah absolutely i'm gonna turn off all the lights yeah they can't find me i'm gonna hide

01:44:50 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 7:

in the bathroom and i love that we took a vote and you guys aren't coming in so good suzanne your parents left you threw a party and then you got

01:45:00 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 2:

busted when what happened um so they came home early and they were like out of way out of town out of state and they ended up coming home early and they ended up joining the party and got trashed and one of my friends came and found me and told me that my parents were in their bedroom

01:45:22 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

bacon cookies. Oh my gosh, really? So your parents actually came home, joined the party, and then ended up fooling around in their own bedroom?

01:45:35 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes, they did. And they forgot to shut the door. Oh my god.

01:45:40 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 4:

How come we never had parents like this? This is unbelievable.

01:45:44 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. Yeah, I don't think they would have been happy if I was bacon cookies, but I guess Yeah, I went in, and they were going at it.

01:45:53 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 4:

So when your parents are partying with your friends, were your friends, like, loving it? Like, were they like, these are the greatest parents ever?

01:46:00 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they were. Absolutely. My mom was the hostess with the mostest, and she's like, you know, can I fill up your cup? Can I, you know, you guys talk great? And then, yeah, she, they, yep.

01:46:15 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they were having fun. Oh, my God. Those parents are crazy. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:21 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 3:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:24 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went out on a date? We're going to find out this morning. So, Tim, you guys went on a date, and everything you thought was great, and then she completely went dark on you. She started ghosting you right afterwards?

01:46:45 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we went on a date a little bit ago. It was super fun. I had a great time, you know, she's really hot Yeah, and I thought it was great And yeah, I've been texting her, calling her And nothing I like some of her pictures on Instagram And just like trying to get her attention and just nothing

01:47:00 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 4:

Really? So even you commenting on stuff That she's got going on on Instagram She has not Like even returned a call Or even sent you a DM To say, hey You know, maybe let's talk again

01:47:14 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 2:

And how did the date end? Like how did you leave it? I thought it was nice No but I mean like was there a kiss Did you make plans for a second date

01:47:22 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 1:

No there was no like kiss But it was like you know like almost kiss I thought there was like a vibe there But you know I thought it was like a cute little hug like bye Like there was an intention of yeah we'll see each other again But yeah Nothing so far

01:47:37 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 4:

So how long do you go before you finally just say Alright she's not into you We're going to try to get him an answer this morning On the phone with us is Mallory Mallory, you're okay with your voice being on the radio, right?

01:47:50 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:47:51 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 4:

So, Mallory, say hello to Tim.

01:47:55 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Tim.

01:47:57 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mallory, did you notice that Tim's been trying to call you?

01:48:03 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know, I saw him, like, some of my, you know, Instagram photos and stuff. But, you know, I just wasn't interested in moving forward.

01:48:16 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 4:

Do you want to know why, Tim? Or are you okay with just knowing that she's not interested?

01:48:21 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 1:

No, I mean, that's totally cool to be not interested, but I thought there was a connection, you know. I thought we were having a good time. So, yeah, I just, you know, why?

01:48:31 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 3:

Are you really sure you want me to talk about this on the radio?

01:48:36 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what you're talking about, so.

01:48:38 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you know, just the fact that you were talking about all these random medical conditions you suffer from during our date? I mean, I'm doing that kind of thing. Isn't that like HIPAA?

01:48:49 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 4:

Well, before you talk about anything, Tim, are you okay?

01:48:54 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, no, I mean, I don't think I said anything. I mean, I was trying to be like up front of, you know, there are like little things that, you know, pop up that I was going through. Just trying to be clear about that. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

01:49:09 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

You mean like you told me that you were on antibiotics and couldn't drink because you had a yeast infection? That was causing issues, like, in your man area?

01:49:20 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 4:

That's a real thing. Tim, are you okay with this?

01:49:24 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, I mean, I didn't expect her to say that one in particular. You're the one who said you were okay with it. Yeah, I mean, like, well, I am okay with it. Like, don't, like, girls have, like, yeast infections, like, all the time? What's the big deal if I have one? You know, it's not, like, so what? So, like.

01:49:43 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 3:

yeah but like what have you been doing that caused that like you think well that could be

01:49:50 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 2:

caused by stuff you eat but that's kind of besides the point well yeah and this is like

01:49:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

these are very common you can get it from like anything you can get it from like taking too many antibiotics

01:50:00 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 6:

You know, taking steroids and stuff Like, I don't think that's what You know, I talk to my doctor about it And I don't, you know, it's very common It's not that big of a deal

01:50:08 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask just Tim this question? And you don't have to answer anything But why would you bring that up On your date? Like, what was the point of the date Where you sat there and said

01:50:20 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm on medication, but you don't have to say It's because I have a yeast infection

01:50:23 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I thought it was like just You know, I can, you know if I can kind of get rambling a little bit, I guess. And, you know, I thought it was, like, some color commentary on the situation. But, yeah, I mean, I guess if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have said stuff about the discomfort in my man area. That probably wasn't a good idea. Right.

01:50:45 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 3:

I still don't feel like it's that big of a deal that he said it. I feel like she's being very judgy about all this. Like, her tone is weird and judgmental.

01:50:53 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't know that I would want to know that about somebody when I'm just getting to know you on a first date.

01:50:57 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 3:

I would appreciate it later on I also don't think that that's the reason To just go somebody

01:51:02 - 01:51:06 | Speaker 2:

Well I agree with you Every week I say that for the most part

01:51:06 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 1:

Although I do have to tell you that I like Tim the fact that Anybody that's willing to talk about Their private parts That are being medically treated You're alright with me I'll take you out for a beer

01:51:19 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 7:

How am I supposed to want to take you home If you're basically telling me you have an issue Wait a second

01:51:26 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 1:

And so, wait, you were that you were that interested in him prior to that, that it was that that kept you from wanting the date to continue to do some more stuff.

01:51:38 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 7:

I mean, yeah, like, but that's that's a no go for me. That is like a hard pass.

01:51:45 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 6:

I like I didn't even know that was on the table. I mean, I thought it was just kind of like a cute little first date situation. But, you know, I definitely shouldn't have said it then if that was the case.

01:51:53 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 And we've got a situation here Mallory Didn't like the fact that Tim was very honest About the fact that he's got a yeast infection

01:52:05 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 2:

But I mean he also could have just said I can't drink today because I'm taking antibiotics But she also would have been mad If he didn't tell her

01:52:13 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 1:

Especially if they hooked up Jill what's going on?

01:52:18 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 4:

Exactly If they would have hooked up she would have been really upset That he didn't tell her full disclosure But also I wouldn't want to go out with her either Because she didn't sound very smart Just now when she said something about HIPAA That's not what that means When he's talking about his own medical condition

01:52:32 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah but I think No I think she was referring to Telling us about his medical condition

01:52:37 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 7:

Why should I be telling this over the radio Isn't that like a HIPAA violation

01:52:42 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 1:

Well it's not HIPAA because she doesn't work In the healthcare field right

01:52:45 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 4:

But I will say And you're talking about his own stuff that he talked about And he gave you permission

01:52:50 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 1:

But if you go out to eat with somebody Man or woman And they start talking to you about their yeast infection Is that something that you want to have At what point of the dinner is that Is that when they bring the bread and the butter out To the table

01:53:02 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

Is that when he told her

01:53:07 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 4:

Or did he tell her when he thought the date was going well And that they might hook up later

01:53:10 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 1:

It sounded to me like it was when the drinks were Being ordered Is that right Tim

01:53:15 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 6:

I mean it came up a little bit earlier I don't know I thought it was kind of funny

01:53:20 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 2:

Did you make it funny Or did you make it serious

01:53:23 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 6:

I don't know Thinking back on it I did not think it was funny

01:53:29 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 1:

Bruno Comment from you Bruno It's Mojo in the Morning Second date update

01:53:35 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 6:

So I'm just thinking If he hadn't told her And something did happen And she gets infected How would she have felt then

01:53:45 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 2:

How would she have what How would she have felt How would you have felt it?

01:53:51 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 1:

Can you catch a yeast infection from another person touching privates?

01:53:55 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 4:

Girls can catch anything. Girls can't. Breathe on them. I mean, that's actually a good one.

01:54:00 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 1:

He's being very good. There's a lot of times where people don't ever talk about their, you know, their passable, you know, issues.

01:54:10 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but, like, he could have just, like, he could have just said, hey, you know, like, not tonight and just made it seem like it was special. He didn't have to tell me or not tell me Like, there's other ways That he could have handled the situation

01:54:23 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Jen, comment from you Second date update here

01:54:27 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 5:

Um, she seems like the kind of girl That's like, oh my gosh He wasn't honest with me But oh my gosh, I hate him for being honest with me Like, you know what I'm saying Like, she liked him so much She was willing to sleep with him But then she wouldn't have been able to sleep with him Because of this issue And you're mad that he said something about it? I don't know

01:54:49 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because he could have just not said something He could have just made it so that the date didn't go that way

01:54:56 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

And then we were doing a second date update with you, actually

01:55:00 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 5:

calling to find out about him uh what's up uh derek hi hi uh hey mojo uh i'm wondering if this is the first time in history that someone has cockblocked themselves it kind of sounds like that doesn't it yeah that's pretty much the vibe i got after uh she said that she was willing to go a little bit further with him and sounds like he told him he sold himself short on this one so

01:55:28 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 1:

better luck next time, buddy. All right. Thank you for the call. Uh, Tim, I appreciate that you're willing, you still have the willingness to talk and go on the air with us. And I think that there's a lot of people that seem to say that there's so many better women out there for

01:55:43 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 4:

you that you'll find somebody. I hope you get better. Yeah. No, it is already cleared up. You know, this thing clears up in like three or four days. You know, there's some ointments that they got, so we're all good in that regard. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool,

01:55:55 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 1:

D, last comment Hold on, the weird stuff Yes, okay

01:56:03 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 2:

But it's like the first date Maybe not all of the details But he didn't know she was like

01:56:09 - 01:56:10 | Speaker 3:

Thinking that far

01:56:10 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you though, my favorite thing Ever to do before I got married When I was dating Was to do the, alright, let's just gross each other Out for the next 15 or 20 minutes Tell me the grossest thing that you didn't want anybody else to know about you.

01:56:26 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 3:

It's so fun to hear the weird stuff about people. Isn't it great? Hearing the weird body stuff. Like, oh, that's what my body was doing today. Why?

01:56:34 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that the greatest? It's a ballsy move for sure. It is.

01:56:39 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

01:56:41 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 5:

All right.

01:56:44 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Second date update.

01:56:45 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 5:

Why aren't you getting a call back?

01:56:47 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

So we should go out again. Sure. We'll figure something out.

01:56:50 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Second date update.

01:56:52 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning.

01:56:53 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I told you guys earlier about how we went to Chicago to go wish Jacob happy birthday and take him out for his birthday. He's our middle son. Well, our youngest son, Luke, did something for the very first time ever. And I'm not going to lie, we were a little worried about it. And some people think that we're crazy that this is the first time ever. but we left him home alone without having to have somebody watch the house and make sure that, you know, he was okay.

01:57:26 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 2:

Isn't he about to go to college?

01:57:28 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 1:

I know, Megan. Yes, he is.

01:57:30 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 2:

And this is the first time?

01:57:31 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 1:

He's 17 years old, and it's the first time that we actually left him in the house completely by himself overnight while Chelsea and I went somewhere.

01:57:41 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. That seems a little late.

01:57:43 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 1:

We're very protective parents.

01:57:45 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah I was unloved That makes a lot of sense

01:57:48 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

But I will say this to you That I Don't think the other two boys have Ever had it where they were home Until around this time too I think they were around 16, 17 years old also When we kind of like let them Stay home with You know Jacob Watching Luke and stuff But we always had somebody on call To make sure that you know everything was okay Yeah. So this was the wild part was I remember the first time that I was ever left by myself and I told Chelsea when we were driving down 94 to go to Chicago. I said, do you remember that I told you a story about the time I threw the house party where Tom Barrett got two kegs and then we got a bunch of red solo cups and we sold them for a bunch of money and we made a crap load of money. And you want to know what Luke ended up doing? going to bed by nine o'clock that night he had a golf tournament up in frankenmuth this weekend and it was an early call where he had to be at school i think at like 6 a.m and the coach told them nobody going out you can't go out and do anything you had to make sure that you're you know home and in bed and stuff and he was a little rule follower and he was a rule follower and he ended up staying home and going in not doing anything and i was a little bit honestly disappointed i was kind of but because i wanted somebody to follow in my footsteps of throwing the the party because joe and jacob also never threw a party at our joe never threw a party come on swear to you he threw parties at other people's homes but he never he was always he was always worried about having to clean up because he knows that chelsea is really super clean his mom is really super clean so i but has do you guys do you guys ever throw a party when your parents we're out of town yes will you reminisce

02:00:00 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 2:

a little bit with us and tell us about like what did you guys do when your parents were out of town 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 did you throw like a wild party or have something kind of crazy

02:00:11 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 4:

happen but i always got caught because i always inevitably destroyed something like at one point we had this carpet that was under our kitchen table and i set it on fire and it also burned

02:00:19 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 2:

the floor underneath like i always got caught so what were you guys doing that lit the thing on

02:00:25 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 4:

fire um it was the call to a hookah that we were doing in the kitchen oh my god and um somebody had dropped it and i didn't realize it it had rolled under the table under the carpet set it

02:00:36 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 2:

on fire and oh my gosh megan oops wow so so you actually had you had a hookah going while you

02:00:45 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 4:

were doing this thing we ripped uh like they called i almost said scones they're sconces right Those are the fancy wall lights We ripped those off of walls It was pretty obvious when we had friends over When my dad was at home Because something was inevitably missing or broken What was the punishment? When your dad found out nothing? I think if the house wasn't completely burned down And we were still alive He was just like, oh my god You guys are the worst children in the world But we broke the couch one time And he sat on it We fixed it enough where if he sat on it It was going to break again And we could frame him But he didn't fall for that And he just knew that we broke the couch and we kind of put it back together. We truly were terrible, terrible children.

02:01:26 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 2:

Mike, you also did this too? You threw a party when your parents were out?

02:01:29 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah. But I lived in Belding, which is like a small, small farm town. So we could have people in. We had a little bit of land, so we had tons of people over. We'd have these huge bonfires. And I never got caught except for one time. I went to invite. This is when there were house phones still. I went to invite everybody to my party. And my mom picked up the other phone in the house And I was like hey yeah guys They're on their way out the door right now And I hear my dad yell from upstairs He's going to his grandparents He's not going

02:01:59 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember how you had to have a home phone And there was a couple different phones And you could get busted with families listening in on calls That's awesome

02:02:07 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 3:

I never threw a party but my little sister did And so my mom would go away And she hired this little The sweetest old lady to watch us Well, it was real easy for her to be sitting in the upstairs and not hear anything that was going on in the downstairs. And my sister was a pro at throwing parties. So sometimes I would come home from work and like half of my grade would be in our living room. She'd have a band set up in the corner. She had people park on a separate street. I mean, it was pro. It was never me. It was always my sister. But my classmate.

02:02:42 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 2:

And the little old lady never came downstairs to get anything?

02:02:45 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 3:

Sweet thing. I think she was probably sleeping, or I don't know. Never knew about it.

02:02:51 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's funny. Mojo in the morning, I want to hear about your party while your parents were out of town. What did you do? What was the party like? Explain it to us. What's up, Allison?

02:03:04 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:03:05 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Allison, did you throw a party while your parents left you home alone?

02:03:09 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 6:

Way too much, yes, all the time. And I thought that I was always getting away with it. They never said anything. There was never any punishment. But very recently, I'm 30 years old now, my mother informed me that every time that she would come home, the dishwasher, both the top and bottom rack, was filled with all cups.

02:03:31 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

And you didn't know.

02:03:33 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 6:

No, the house was cleaner than when she left every time, so she appreciated that. But she was like, oh, okay, so she just drank water all weekend again. Got it.

02:03:43 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Sierra, what's happening?

02:03:46 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I threw a big party, and I thought I got away with it. And my parents came home the next day, and they found beer bottles in the toilet tank.

02:03:55 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. People actually picked up the back of the toilet and put beer bottles in there.

02:04:00 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 5:

Yes. My friends that were helping me clean up, I got through, like, you know, stuffed the toilet tank with beer bottles. So I thought I was all cool the next morning until the toilet wouldn't flush, my dad found out.

02:04:13 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Sheila, how you doing?

02:04:17 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 7:

Hi, I'm good. How are you?

02:04:18 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Good, Sheila. Now, this happened to you. Your parents left you home alone, but you ended up getting screwed?

02:04:25 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but my parents didn't find out. I don't think they did. But anyway, so I was definitely not 21. And we had a party. And my neighbors down the street, they realized my parents are home, so they called the cops. And the cops came. But we always were told, don't answer the door. you know because you don't want them to come in and well I'll get MIPs and everything so we didn't do that but they like two different cop cars sat in front of my house and they turned their spotlights on my house and they sat out there for like an hour and we wouldn't you know we wouldn't let them in they were knocking on our door.

02:05:00 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 3:

And we heard our, it's when we still had a house phone. They called my house phone and they were like, you guys just got to let us in. We're not going to, you know, we're not mad, blah, blah, blah. And we're like, you're crazy. So we decided to take a vote and we told them that we voted. We weren't letting them in.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 1:

And they couldn't come in.

02:05:19 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And they never, I fell asleep in the bathroom. We all were like hiding in my house and I fell asleep in my bathroom because, you know, we were all drinking, of course. But I fell asleep in my bathroom, and I woke up, and cops were gone, thank God. And half of my friends hopped out the window to, like, run through my neighbor's yards and stuff. But that was definitely... Oh, wow. How funny. That was kind of crazy, because I was scared. I was hiding in the bathroom, and I thought, oh, my God, I'll turn off all the lights. Yeah, they can't find me. I'm going to hide in the bathroom.

02:05:48 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 1:

I love that. We took a vote, and you guys aren't coming in.

02:05:51 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 3:

That's so good.

02:05:51 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 1:

Suzanne, your parents left. You threw a party, and then you got busted.

02:05:56 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 5:

when what happened um so they came home early and they were like out of way out of town out of state and they ended up coming home early and they ended up joining the party and got trashed and one of my friends came and found me and told me that my parents were in their

02:06:18 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 1:

bedroom baking cookies oh my gosh really so your parents your parents actually came home joined the party and then ended up fooling around in their own bedroom yes they did

02:06:32 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 5:

and they forgot to shut the door oh my god how come we never had parents like this this is unbelievable that's crazy yeah i don't think they would have been happy if i was baking cookies but i guess they could do it and they were they were going so when when your parents are partying with

02:06:52 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 1:

your friends were your friends like loving it like were they like these are the greatest parents

02:06:56 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 5:

ever absolutely my mom was the hostess with the mostest man she's like you know can i can i fill up your cup can i you know you got hungry and then yeah she uh they yep they yeah they were

02:07:12 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 1:

having fun oh my god those parents are crazy all right it's mojo in the morning it's the second

02:07:18 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Second date update, a mojo in the morning.

02:07:20 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 1:

All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went out on a date? We're going to find out this morning. So, Tim, you guys went on a date, and everything you thought was great, and then she completely went dark on you. She started ghosting you right afterwards?

02:07:41 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we went on a date a little bit ago. It was super fun. I had a great time. You know, she's really hot. But, yeah, and I thought it was great. And, yeah, I've been texting her, calling her, and nothing. I like some of her, like, pictures on Instagram and just, like, try and get her attention and just nothing.

02:07:56 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 1:

Really? So even you commenting on stuff that she's got going on on Instagram, she has not, like, even returned a call or even sent you a DM to say, hey, you know, maybe let's talk again. No.

02:08:11 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 5:

And how did the date end? Like, how did you leave it?

02:08:14 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was nice, you know.

02:08:15 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 5:

No, but I mean, like, was there a kiss? Did you make plans for a second date?

02:08:19 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 2:

No, like, there was no, like, kiss, but it was, like, you know, like, almost kiss. You know, I thought there was, like, a vibe there. But, you know, I thought it was, like, a cute little hug, like, bye. Like, there was an intention of, yeah, we'll see each other again. But, yeah, nothing so far.

02:08:33 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 1:

So how long do you go before you finally just say, all right, she's not into you? We're going to try to get him an answer this morning. On the phone with us is Mallory. Mallory, you're okay with your voice being on the radio, right?

02:08:46 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:08:47 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 1:

So, Mallory, say hello to Tim.

02:08:51 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Tim.

02:08:53 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mallory, did you notice that Tim's been trying to call you?

02:08:59 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you know, I saw him, like, some of my, you know, Instagram photos and stuff. But, you know, I just wasn't interested in moving forward.

02:09:12 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 1:

Do you want to know why, Tim? Or are you okay with just knowing that she's not interested?

02:09:18 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, that's totally cool to be not interested, but I thought there was a connection. You know, I thought we were having a good time. So, yeah, I just, you know, why?

02:09:27 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 4:

Are you really sure you want me to talk about this on the radio?

02:09:32 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're talking about, so.

02:09:34 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know, just the fact that you were talking about all these random medical conditions you suffer from during our date? I mean, I'm doing that kind of thing. Isn't that like HIPAA?

02:09:45 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, before you talk about anything, Tim, are you okay?

02:09:50 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, no, I mean, I don't think I said anything. I mean, I was trying to be like up front of, you know, there are like little things that, you know, pop up that way. going through just trying to be clear about that you mean like you told me that you were

02:10:07 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 5:

on antibiotics and couldn't drink because you had a yeast infection that was causing issues

02:10:13 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 1:

like in your man area i mean tim are you okay with this well i mean i mean i didn't expect her

02:10:23 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 2:

to say that one in particular uh but yeah i mean like well i am okay with it like don't like girls have like yeast infections like all the time what's the what's the big deal if i have one you

02:10:37 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 5:

know it's not like so what so like yeah but like what have you been doing that caused that like

02:10:45 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 3:

well that could be caused by stuff you eat but that's kind of besides the point

02:10:48 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 2:

well yeah and this is like these are very common you can get it from like anything you can get it from like taking too many antibiotics you know taking steroids and stuff like i don't think that's what i you know i talked to my doctor about it and i don't you know it's very common

02:11:03 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 1:

it's not that big of a deal why can i ask just tim this question and you don't have to answer anything but why would you bring that up on your date like what what what was the point of the date

02:11:15 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 3:

You don't have to say, oh, I can't drink, I'm on medication, but you don't have to say it's because I have a yeast infection.

02:11:20 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I thought it was, like, just, you know, I can kind of get rambling a little bit, I guess. And, you know, I thought it was, like, some color commentary on the situation. But, yeah, I mean, I guess if I could go back in time, I wouldn't have said stuff about the discomfort in my man area. That probably wasn't a good idea. Right.

02:11:41 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 5:

I still don't feel like it's that big of a deal that he said it. I feel like she's being very judgy

02:11:46 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

About all this Like her tone is weird and judgmental I don't know that I would want to know that about somebody When I'm just getting to know you on a first date I would appreciate it later on I also don't think that that's the reason to just go somebody Well I agree with you Every week I say that For the most part

02:12:02 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Although I do have to tell you that I like Tim The fact that anybody that's willing to talk about Their private parts That are being medically treated You're alright with me I'll take you out for a beer

02:12:16 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 5:

How am I supposed to want to take you home If you're basically telling me you have an issue Wait a second Wait

02:12:23 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 1:

You were that interested in him Prior to that That it was that that kept you From wanting the date to continue To do some more stuff

02:12:33 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 5:

I mean yeah But that's a no go for me That is like a hard pass

02:12:40 - 02:12:49 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even know that was on the table. I mean, I thought it was just kind of like a cute little first date situation, but you know, I definitely shouldn't have said it then if that was the case.

02:12:50 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And we've got a situation here. Mallory didn't like the fact that Tim was very honest about the fact that he's got a yeast infection.

02:13:02 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 3:

But, I mean, he also could have just said, I can't drink today because I'm taking antibiotics. But she also would have been mad if he didn't tell her.

02:13:09 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 1:

Jill. Especially if they hooked up. Jill what's going on Exactly

02:13:13 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 4:

If they would have hooked up she would have been really upset That he didn't tell her full disclosure But also I wouldn't want to go out with her either Because she didn't sound very smart Just now when she said something about HIPAA That's not what that means When he's talking about his own medical condition

02:13:28 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah but I think I think she was referring to telling us About his medical condition

02:13:33 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 5:

Why should I be telling this over the radio Isn't that like a HIPAA violation

02:13:38 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Well it's not HIPAA because she doesn't work In the healthcare field Right

02:13:41 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

But I will say And you're talking about His own stuff That he talked about And he gave you permission

02:13:46 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 1:

But if you go out To eat with somebody And man or woman And they start talking to you About their yeast infection Is that something That you want to have Talk Is that when At what point of the dinner Is that Is that when they bring The bread and the butter Out to the table Speaking of bread Speaking of yeast

02:14:00 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 4:

Is that when he told her Or did he tell her When he thought the date Was going well And that they might Hook up later No It sounded to me like

02:14:08 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

It was when the drinks Were being ordered Is that right, Tim?

02:14:12 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it came up a little bit earlier And like, I don't know I thought it was kind of funny

02:14:16 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Did you make it funny or did you make it serious?

02:14:22 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 2:

I don't know Thinking back on it I did not think it was funny

02:14:25 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 1:

Bruno, comment from you, Bruno It's Mojo in the Morning's second date update

02:14:31 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 2:

So, I'm just thinking So, if he hadn't told her And something did happen And she gets infected How would she have felt it?

02:14:43 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 3:

How would she have what? How would she have felt? How would you have felt it?

02:14:47 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Can you catch a yeast infection from another person touching privates?

02:14:51 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 4:

Girls can catch anything. Girls can't. Breathe on them. I mean, that's actually a good one.

02:14:56 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

He's being very good. There's a lot of times where people don't ever talk.

02:15:00 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 4:

about their you know their passable uh you know issues so yeah but like he could have just like

02:15:08 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 10:

he could have just said hey you know like not tonight and just made it seem like it was special he didn't have to tell me or not tell me like there's other ways that he could have handled

02:15:18 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 4:

the situation is all i'm saying yeah jen comment from you second date update here um she seems like

02:15:25 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 7:

the kind of girl that's like oh my gosh he wasn't honest with me but oh my gosh i hate him for being honest with me like you like you know what i'm saying like she liked him so much she was willing to sleep with him but then she wouldn't have been able to sleep with him because of this issue and you're mad that he said something about it i i don't know very because he could have just not

02:15:47 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 10:

said something he could have just made it so that the date didn't go that way and then we were doing

02:15:54 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

a second date update with you actually calling to find out about him. What's up, Derek? Hi.

02:16:01 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Hey, Mojo. I'm wondering if this is the first time in history that someone has cock-blocked themselves.

02:16:08 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It sure is. It kind of sounds like that, doesn't it?

02:16:15 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's pretty much the vibe I got after she said that she was willing to go a little bit further with him. And it sounds like he sold himself short on this one. So better luck next time, buddy.

02:16:26 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you for the call. Tim, I appreciate that you're willing. You still have the willingness to talk and go on the air with us. And I think that there's a lot of people that seem to say that there's so many better women out there for you that you'll find somebody.

02:16:40 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 11:

I hope you get better. Yeah. No, it is already cleared up. You know, this thing clears up in like three or four days. You know, there's some ointments that they got. Okay. We're all good. D, last comment

02:16:55 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, the weird stuff Yes, okay

02:16:59 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 8:

But it's like the first date Maybe not all of the details But he didn't know she was like Thinking that far

02:17:06 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you though, my favorite thing Ever to do before I got married When I was dating Was to do the, alright, let's just gross each other Out for the next 15 or 20 minutes Tell me the grossest thing that you didn't want Anybody else to know about you Fascinating

02:17:23 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 9:

It's so funny to hear the weird stuff about people Isn't it great? Hearing the weird body stuff Like oh that's what my body was doing today Why?

02:17:30 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the greatest? It's a ballsy move for sure Come on Come on Alright Second date update

02:17:41 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 1:

02:17:43 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 3:

So we should go out again Sure we'll figure something out

02:17:46 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the mornings second date update mojo in the morning mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30. hello shannon how

02:17:55 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 3:

was your weekend did you have a good one it was good i helped my fiance move all weekend

02:18:01 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 4:

yeah and hung out with the kids it was nice you have this uh raspiness i know you know what i

02:18:07 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 3:

started i started it on friday i feel totally fine so it's just something with my voice but

02:18:11 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 4:

i kind of like it though i mean don't you guys kind of like it it's got this like little rasp thing going on? I always

02:18:18 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 9:

like Shannon's voice.

02:18:21 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 4:

Don't you like it, though, when it gets a little bit raspy? It's like the sexy... I got a

02:18:28 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 3:

medicine ball from Starbucks every single day this weekend thinking that would help. I would date

02:18:32 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 9:

Shannon. She's got this sexy voice. I would date Shannon.

02:18:38 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 4:

Would you not date non-sick Shannon?

02:18:40 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what the heck? No, probably not. No? Alright. It is breaking dirty right now, and it's a sad story. Len Goodman The former head judge on Dancing with the Stars has died. He was 78 years old. So if you ever watched that. So, you know.

02:18:53 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 4:

Didn't he just say he was retiring from the show too?

02:18:55 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think so. Yeah, he passed away on Saturday at a hospice in England surrounded by his family. I didn't know this, but he had bone cancer. He had been battling that. So his family released a statement saying he was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather who will sorely be missed by family, friends, and all of whom you'll have. The NFL has suspended five players following an investigation into the league's gambling policy. Four of those five are from the Lions. The other one's from the Washington Commanders. Lions wide receivers Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill are being suspended six games each for mobile betting. And here's the thing. They did it at the Lions facility, which is a big no-no.

02:19:37 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Look, I mean, the difference is spelled out in the NFL's gambling policy. They found that the two players, the three players that are suspended indefinitely, they found that they bet on NFL games, strictly prohibited under the NFL's gambling policy for every everyone in the entire league, players, anybody who works in the league, etc. What they found with regard to Jameson Williams.

02:20:00 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 1:

stanley berry hill was that they did not bet on nfl games but that they did bet on other games while they were at the lions team facility and there is uh there is in the nfl's gambling policy it states nfl personnel should not engage in any form of gambling while in any club or league setting including without limitation locker rooms practice or office facilities team buses trains

02:20:22 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 2:

flights hotels so that's a little another little bit of information to the story lions wide receiver Quintez Cephas and safety CJ Moore they were originally suspended indefinitely you may have heard this news over the weekend they were ultimately released by the Lions several staff members several Lions staff members were also fired for this as well the NFL did say there is no evidence that any inside info was used or any games were compromised excuse me by the players

02:20:47 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 3:

betting you know what kind of bothers me about this I'm going to Mike I'm sorry you say your

02:20:50 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 4:

thought I'm just gonna I'm just gonna rant about how that we finally have a chance to have a good

02:20:55 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

team and you're screwing it up like what are you doing i agree i agree they they knew the rules they should have not done this but the nfl is you know of course the you know hypocritical league um i agree with that you know how they got busted so you if you ever have traveled out of town and you have like your account like i know mike you're draft kings right yeah so you go out of town like when you're going down to florida you will have to if you try to log in to do a bet on a game back home like, you know, a Tigers game or something like that, you will have to do a GPS and we'll see where you're located and they'll know your GPS and a lot of occasions it will ask you for your re-GPS. So whatever they use as their betting, that betting service told on them, basically told the NFL.

02:21:38 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 2:

I was wondering how it even got discovered. I thought somebody, they were talking about it and somebody just told on them.

02:21:43 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 5:

No, because if you can't do it in certain states, so if you're in a state that doesn't allow it and it picks you up there, then it won't let you gamble there.

02:21:49 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 2:

And I think, interesting.

02:21:50 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 3:

And I think, honestly, I think that if the NFL has taken the amount of money in advertising from these apps or whichever app that they, you know, have as their official app, it's hypocritical that these guys are saying, they're being told they can't even bet, period, on non-NFL games.

02:22:08 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Just dumb. I get what you're saying, but they're still unaccompanied. How much of that is liability, though?

02:22:13 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, they just want to keep, they don't want a Pete Rose situation where they're gambling on the sport.

02:22:18 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 4:

I mean, but you're in that position where you're about to play for an NFL team. Just don't gamble. Just don't do it. I get it's kind of silly to do it, but just don't.

02:22:25 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 3:

These guys, by the way, they have so much money. It's like they buy crazy expensive cars, houses, you know, fly on private planes, and they do tons of gambling.

02:22:35 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Lizzo brought a group of drag queens on stage at her show in Tennessee to protest Tennessee's law that bans drag shows in public or just locations where kids could see it. Several of the performers she brought on stage in Knoxville, Megan, were RuPaul's Drag Race alumni. Of course we were. Yeah, Aja O'Hara, Candy Muse was there. Yeah, here you go. Listen to me.

02:22:56 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 6:

I was told by people on the internet, here's your shows in Tennessee. Don't go to Tennessee. You don't have to go in person. The reason was valid. But why would I not come to the people who need to hear this message the most?

02:23:10 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she said she wants to celebrate differences, and that's why she did what she did. And lastly, Celebrity Cruises is being sued for a million dollars. Did you hear about this story?

02:23:22 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 6:

No, what's the story?

02:23:23 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 2:

After leaving a dead passenger in the drink cooler for almost a week, the body was so decomposed, too decomposed, in fact, for this poor man's family to have an open casket funeral. Robert L. Jones, died from heart complications while on board the Celebrity Equinox. Isn't Celebrity Cruise Lines like a nicer cruise line? I don't know. Okay, I always thought that, but I don't know. But after his death, his wife Marilyn was told the body could be kept in the ship's morgue because there was a morgue on board for six days until they arrived back in Florida. She said that the cruise staff urged her to keep Bob's body on board instead of removing it during a stop in Puerto Rico. They said this is going to be so much easier. Trust us, you don't want to go through all the red tape. So she did. Well, at some point, however, Bob's corpse was moved from the morgue to a drink cooler. Crew's staff said the morgue, something happened. It wasn't functioning properly at the time. By the time a funeral services employee went to get this poor man's body upon arrival back to Florida, the corpse, which was found in a body bag on the floor, had been so badly decomposed that, yeah, they had to change funeral arrangements because of it.

02:24:32 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 3:

So the family went on a cruise. Right. The man died at the very beginning. The man dies at the beginning of the cruise, and they still cruised?

02:24:39 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

They still cruised. They didn't, like, say, stop. That was crazy to me, too. But they said, the wife and the daughters said they wanted to remove the body during a stop in Puerto Rico and ship it back home. I don't know what sort of steps you have to take to make that happen, but the cruise staff said it is going to be so much easier to just keep him on board for the next couple of days. When you get home, we'll unload the body.

02:25:00 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 1:

with you and your luggage. I would have the hardest time, though. Do you think it's because of international, like, getting a body through customs? I know. I don't know that Puerto Rico isn't international. But I also bet it had something to do with the fact that if you get off of this cruise, it's going to be harder for you to get the body back. They might have been forced to stay on the cruise.

02:25:17 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 2:

Really? Well, I'm going to say this to you. That's still... If I should die on a cruise with my family...

02:25:22 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 1:

Think if you had a drink on that ship and you knew his body was in there all the time, too.

02:25:25 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 2:

I want a weekend at Bernie's. I want to actually be able to be out and about on the cruise.

02:25:29 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 1:

Dancing all around?

02:25:30 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

I'm from Toledo. And, uh, um, honestly I've arrived with motor city pedals, man, a wheelie crew and we've We're going up to Grand Rapids all the time for a ride out all over. So we're all over your listening area, man. It's really cool. I like that.

02:26:59 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

You ever make it your way through Detroit at all?

02:27:02 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 3:

Every Saturday we're in Detroit, man. Riverside Skate Park at 2. Bring your bicycle out. Let's ride some wheelies, man.

02:27:07 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You don't know me. I got a bike, all right? So I don't know if this is a good bike, but Chelsea bought me for Father's Day a couple years ago one of those Treks bikes. They're like Trek, R-T-R-E-K.

02:27:19 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Aren't those really nice bikes? Yeah, it's a great bike.

02:27:21 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 2:

It's a great bike, and I've gone on, like, I've gone on, like, maybe six bike rides with it with my friend Rick Letterman, who has, like, the fancy pants, you know, the bike pants that people wear.

02:27:35 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 1:

The butt padding.

02:27:35 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

He's got, like, the hat that's, you know, even got, like, a rearview mirror on it, like the helmet that's got a rearview mirror. Like, he's, like, full-fledged, like, you know, he's got gloves and everything like that, and it's just me and a bike helmet that literally I bought at Meijer, and all I kept thinking, to myself the entire time that I was riding this bike was, is my ass crack showing? Because my pants were kind of showing.

02:27:57 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 1:

And the answer is probably yes. There's a group here that does the glow roll.

02:28:01 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they were probably... The group that went...

02:28:04 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 3:

In Toledo, we do that. We've done it a couple times. They're not so keen on the wheelies and whatnot, but I think we're going to go for the West End Festival this year. They're doing the glow roll, so don't miss that in Toledo.

02:28:15 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 2:

You don't do the wheelies while you're driving and there's traffic there, do you?

02:28:18 - 02:28:27 | Speaker 3:

uh you know i'm not gonna condone anything we do or we don't do but there's a lot of wheelies yeah

02:28:27 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 2:

so bikers do they call you guys bikers or cyclists because they don't call it jogging anymore they call it running uh with their life is what we call it so when when i'm driving down the street and on these two-lane you know roads that are by my house because i live in west bloomfield you know where there's a bunch of the different lakes and curly roads and stuff like that i look at these bikers and i'm like going you guys are brave because i can't believe and some of them are really good about staying over to the side so that you know they are real protective of their bikes but they're also protective of themselves making sure that you know an idiot driving a car doesn't hit them and then there are some of them that literally just get right in the middle of the road and they're very brave and i sit there and i look at you guys sometimes and i think to myself man i'm surprised that we don't have any more accidents out there You know, and if you're out there doing wheelies, that scares the crap out of me.

02:29:21 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, safety in numbers, you know, the more people you got, the easier you'd be seen. And that's kind of the same with, you know, in the middle of the road. At least they can see you, you know, and you can see them. So definitely being seen is the biggest thing.

02:29:33 - 02:29:36 | Speaker 2:

You don't bike from Toledo to Grand Rapids, do you?

02:29:36 - 02:29:40 | Speaker 3:

No, of course not, no. We just throw them in the car, in the van, and go.

02:29:40 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I was going to say, I mean, it already is a long enough drive. I feel bad when we have Megan have to do that drive for a promotion. But I couldn't imagine you get on a bike and do it.

02:29:51 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 3:

No, of course not. No, we just carry the bikes up there, and then we ride and drive home.

02:29:55 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. Well, you guys enjoy it, Andrew. We'll have to look out for you, okay? Yeah, definitely. Motorcitypedals on Instagram. Check us out.

02:30:03 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 5:

We are 10 minutes away from maybe 10 or 20 minutes away from giving away a Naughty Moms Night Out. So we'll do that coming up here in a little bit. And we'll also do a word to text so that you can win. And we're going to give away $1,000, our first $1,000 in the morning. I just ate two egg bites from Starbucks so fast that I now have like burps coming up.

02:30:29 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 4:

And those are stinky.

02:30:31 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. I'm sorry. I felt it. I had to. I don't even want to throw off. A second. I'm sorry, but I had to.

02:30:36 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 3:

So sexy.

02:30:38 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:30:39 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 3:

It's the sexiest thing that has been on these airwaves in a long time.

02:30:42 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 2:

I would rather smell a fart than a burp. Would you really? Oh, my gosh, yeah. You're absolutely wrong. Yeah, no. No, I can't.

02:30:51 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay, speaking of disgusting, you guys, you and Lydia witnessed something really disgusting when you went to a concert together this weekend.

02:31:00 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:31:00 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 5:

First off, hello to every one of the Mojo in the Morning listeners that listens to us and country music because I heard that you guys were getting recognized and spotted by all the Luke Combs fans.

02:31:14 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I mean, you listen to country during the day and you listen to Mojo in the Morning in the morning. That's how it works. But yeah, there are a ton of Mojo in the Morning listeners out there, But this guy in particular behind us did something that I will never forget. Lydia, you've got to come in here and talk about this, too.

02:31:31 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 5:

I love Luke Combs, but I only love one song.

02:31:34 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, how many songs do you know?

02:31:35 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 5:

By the way, you girls looked absolutely beautiful. Thank you. This is my favorite Luke Combs song. Have you heard this before, Shannon? I do love this song.

02:31:42 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, of course.

02:31:46 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 5:

He's the guy that's like my size with a big old beard and stuff.

02:31:51 - 02:32:02 | Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm. It was sold out, and it set a record, I think, at Ford Field. Really? There was over 52,000 people there. Holy cow.

02:32:03 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 5:

All right, so you guys are at this concert, which is amazing that you got Lydia to go to another country concert.

02:32:08 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 2:

I know. I think I've turned this Calidean country. I love that.

02:32:13 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 5:

Did you just call her a Calidean? I know.

02:32:14 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 2:

Everybody makes fun of me because I say it wrong. I cannot speak Calidean.

02:32:18 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 5:

All right, so you guys go to the concert,

02:32:20 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 2:

and you witnessed something disgusting what was it so there was this guy behind us and i honestly don't know what's more embarrassing being the person that's not aware that it's happening behind you or being the person that it's happening to so i feel like this this rush of air and i hear people going behind me and i'm just like scrolling or posting a story and somebody goes he's being he's being and lydia's over there running running away and i'm like oh my gosh i turn around and This guy's stream is going directly for my boot. I'm this close to having liquids on me. And I am like, oh, my God. And run away. Everyone's running. This is in the pit. We are legit like a couple rows from the stage. And this dude is whipping it out, just peeing. And he even gave us a warning, too. I thought he was kidding. He goes to me and Lydia. He goes, I got to pee. And I'm like, dude, are you for real? When did he call it again? He goes, I got to pee. No, he didn't say pee either. He said the other way I'm just like Go There's a bathroom over there

02:33:22 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 5:

I need to wipe the pee pee

02:33:23 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 2:

You know where this Would never happen You don't even This even works I knew Megan was gonna Say something too Like Why do cowboys Always gotta pee everywhere Keep it in your pants Go to a tree Wait but that No It would never happen

02:33:35 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

At a Harry Styles show Never happened Was he just so wasted That he didn't care He was gone

02:33:42 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah he was gone But he was sober enough

02:33:44 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 1:

To keep walking Back and forth To get a beer Not enough to walk To the bathroom No, he was waddling.

02:33:49 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 2:

He was waddling stuff here. He got a waddle to the bathroom to purr. Yeah.

02:33:52 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 5:

To purr. You know what the problem, though, is? When you get those, like, really good, up close to the stage floor, you know, not seats, because there's really no seats, right? You're just standing there. There's really nowhere to pee. They don't have, like, porta-potties or anything. Oh, no, wrong.

02:34:10 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely wrong. Sometimes floor seats has the best bathrooms. Sometimes you get let into where the players get to go and you have your own bathrooms that like the bowl can't get into. Yeah.

02:34:21 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know that.

02:34:21 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 3:

So no excuses. This is just country concert behavior. This is country concert behavior.

02:34:27 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 2:

Megan, you are right. I'm sorry. You're right.

02:34:30 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to have to agree with Megan on that one for sure.

02:34:31 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 4:

So he pees on the floor and then what does everybody just like avoid that spot and so then you're all cramped around the pee puddle?

02:34:40 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but what was worse was Some people didn't even notice So they were walking backwards

02:34:44 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 2:

And I told Lydia too She's wanted to take her shoes off Because her feet hurt so bad I'm like, girl, that guy just urinated on the ground Do you want to walk without your shoes on? You're kidding me right now?

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Hold on a second Ted, are you there, Ted?

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm here.

02:35:01 - 02:35:07 | Speaker 2:

Ted, you also were right there and witnessed the guy peeing on the floor at Ford Field?

02:35:08 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 6:

Look, I'm going to catch a lot of flack from my buddies. But, yeah, I've got to admit, I've seen it all happen.

02:35:13 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 2:

Really? Why are you going to catch crap from your buddies?

02:35:15 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 4:

Was it one of your buddies that was the peer?

02:35:17 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, he was not the peer. But, you know, I've seen it, and it was live. You know, I'm standing there by myself. My buddy Todd runs to fetch us a couple of beers. And I noticed Lydia and KP, you know, they're just having a good old time out of the corner of my eye. And all of a sudden, like, they do this, like, rightward shuffle right in front of me, you know. And I'm like, well, how can I be so lucky? These two girls just slide right in front of me, you know. And as they slide in front of me, I look to the left. And this guy's got a zipper sausage out. And he's just going to town. he's throwing his urine on the floor like like peanut shells at texas road right and and so we're standing there and then the river like it starts running towards us i mean we're at the luke combs concert and all of a sudden we've got waterfront property okay so we navigate a little bit away from the the scene or whatever and we're like And, you know, we're in between, like, laughing at it and, whoa, what did we just see here, you know? And, I mean, like, Luke Holmes comes out, and then we look over again, and everyone's just dancing and tap dancing in the urn, and we're like, oh, my goodness.

02:36:30 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 2:

And this is an indoor concert. This is not an outdoor concert. That's craziness. Ted, that's awesome. Ted is the greatest storyteller ever. Thank you, Ted.

02:36:39 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 6:

I will tell you what. I will tell you what. I wouldn't trade them numbers for the world, but I'd trade them prostates in a minute. Yeah, I mean, this guy's prostate is aging. When he goes to his primary care position, he can definitely get that.

02:36:55 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Ted, hold on. Ted needs to be a misfit. We got to have Ted be a moron.

02:36:58 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 4:

You're a great storyteller. You are the best.

02:37:01 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Jessica says that this happens a lot at Faster Horses. I would understand that.

02:37:06 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 4:

Are you on grass?

02:37:07 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it's a hill. But also, what is Faster Horses? A country concert.

02:37:11 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 7:

A country concert.

02:37:14 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Jess. But at least it soaks into the dirt.

02:37:17 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 7:

Megan, you're telling me you've never peed at a night out with girls who couldn't make it to the bathroom and pulled down your pants.

02:37:22 - 02:37:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait, I will say I did pee in the parking lot at DTE. I've done that too. I did pee. I used my car door as a shield. Yep, so did I. After Zach Brown band, actually.

02:37:30 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 2:

Megan, you've never?

02:37:32 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 3:

Not that I can recall, no. Yeah. And I will say, I almost think it's worse to do it outside. And I know that's crazy. But I feel like urine mud is grosser than just urine on the floor

02:37:45 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I quickly asked you that question Because I wanted to get your answer on that But Shannon also did it at a country concert So again, we've got a

02:37:54 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I will say that it was not around people

02:37:55 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 2:

All these are country concerts

02:37:57 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 4:

Country behavior, guys Yeah, I've never done that before

02:38:01 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 2:

It was just something about that show A non-country concert, Robert, that he witnessed this Where was it, Robert?

02:38:07 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 1:

i was at a metallica concert and uh at comerica park a few years back and uh i was there with a date at the uh on the lawn and uh there was a couple behind me and the guy that was behind that couple man he was messed up uh i don't even know if you knew where he was they just uh started peeing and heard people screaming i look back and i was like whoa i started pushing people back and everybody was yelling at him and dude was just standing there just peeing and uh i think uh

02:38:38 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 2:

security ended up taking him away oh i would think that honestly you'd probably get charged with something for doing that out in public like that uh 734 is my favorite text of this whole thing because it has nothing to do with the peeing but it says burping on the radio is so unprofessional you can do it without letting us know have more class as we then go into the guy peeping But he did announce it, too. He did.

02:39:01 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 7:

He gave us a warning. That's right.

02:39:03 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning show. Megan, is it professional or not professional to quit this way?

02:39:11 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

So I think a lot of times during COVID, a lot of people were hired on the basis of working from home. And I think for a lot of industries, that may have changed over the past few months. And some businesses are bringing people back a couple of days a week. some are like strictly you've got to come back to the office 24 7 well maybe not 24 normal business hours right five days a week um but one of my girlfriends is telling me that this guy who was hired during covid never showed up to anything never like office parties or any happy hours that was happening but as soon as the email went out that everybody has to come back to the office every single day of the week this guy bounced and here's what i don't really have a problem with you bouncing like if that's not the job you signed up for cool it was the way that he bounced

02:40:00 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 2:

that I was a little surprised by because the lack of professionalism really has even exceeded my expectations and my bar was very low. He quit via text. He didn't call. He didn't even send an email. He didn't do the team's message. He straight up just texted his boss, I'm out. And I think that's awesome.

02:40:20 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 1:

Deuces.

02:40:21 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was so good. I was like, you know what? I feel you. That's how I feel about a lot of situations lately. I was like, you deserve this.

02:40:31 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 1:

All right. Here's the thing. We will not judge you. We just want to know if you've done this. Has anybody else ever quit by text? They quit their work by a text message. Not yet. And we don't want you to text us to tell us yes. We want you to call us and tell us. If you can't call your boss, you got to at least call Mojo in the morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I'm hearing a lot, by the way, of this, where people got jobs during the stay-at-home and work phase, and then once the company said, hey, you've got to come into work, they were like, I'm out. But the funny thing is, I have a couple friends of mine that just recently quit their jobs. They quit, but then got new jobs with companies that they have to go into work with.

02:41:19 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 3:

Was that the reason that they quit their old job?

02:41:21 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, no. What ended up happening was they just wanted something that was closer to home. So they were working for companies that were not that close to their house. One was, there's a girl that is mutual friends of a buddy. She lives in Rochester, and the work that she got was down in like Wyandotte or kind of like downriver. And that's a long drive, and I totally get that. So she was like, when the company said, hey, you got to come back in to work, she was like, there ain't no way I'm fighting through that kind of traffic. Yeah. Which those that don't live anywhere in our Detroit listening area, that's probably every day well over an hour commute, you know, to and from. If it's traffic, it's more. Nicole, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:42:05 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I actually quit via text, too. I was working at Speedway and the day before I was working there, I had gotten harassed like really, really bad by two co-workers. And the next day, they asked me if I was coming in. I'm like, no, I'm not. I quit. I'm sorry.

02:42:26 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:42:27 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 5:

Like, via text message, yes.

02:42:28 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 1:

Did you text your boss or manager and tell them?

02:42:33 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 5:

No, it's actually the boss's assistant.

02:42:35 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:42:37 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Do you get a text message response back, or do you get a phone call?

02:42:42 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 5:

No, I didn't get nothing back. I just didn't get any response back. I quit. I'm not, I mean, I didn't want to work in an environment where I was being harassed.

02:42:53 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, of course. Yeah, yeah.

02:42:55 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 1:

But I wonder, though, if you just left it up now for that next person to take your job to get harassed.

02:43:03 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 5:

But that's not on you. I know, I know. I felt bad.

02:43:05 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 3:

I know, but I mean, I just don't want to be in that environment either. It is, but it is. But you should be complaining to somebody so they have record of it.

02:43:13 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, the thing is, the thing is, is the manager, that's the head boss of the company, is actually her daughter that I was working for, who's the assistant. Oh, man.

02:43:25 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 3:

So that was a messy situation, unfortunately. That would be a tough one.

02:43:28 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And the daughter was the one who was making fun of me. And I can't tell her mom, hey, your daughter's making fun of me.

02:43:37 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 1:

So I was like, no.

02:43:39 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Good for you for getting out. That sounds super toxic.

02:43:41 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Erica, what's up?

02:43:43 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 4:

is mojo in the morning you also quit uh through text yes i was a manager for physical therapy clinic and a new boss took over and they wanted me to just work all these extra hours cut my pay didn't want to pay me and so i literally sent them a text went in got my key on the desk locked the door behind me and took all my stuff and left wow and what did you do with the appointments that you had that day no they weren't there was no one there it was after hours And they were just in the middle of switching over to a new boss. Okay. And, yeah.

02:44:19 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if, too, and not saying that it is appropriate to quit over text, but we've done so many things for so long that we're not face-to-face that it's just very normal. Yeah. You know what I mean? To quit that way. You don't even think twice about it.

02:44:36 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to do a dance.

02:44:36 - 02:44:37 | Speaker 3:

I mean.

02:44:38 - 02:44:45 | Speaker 1:

If the dance is good enough, you might get a raise. Lisa is a manager of a fast food chain. What fast food chain?

02:44:46 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 5:

Taco Bell.

02:44:47 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

And this happens all the time, huh?

02:44:49 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we actually have, like, a crew app, and they just type in there, hey, I'm putting in my two weeks, I'm quitting, I'm done, whatever.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Molly's on the other line here. She actually did that.

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 7:

taco bell i wonder if she worked for you lisa molly you never had a molly working for you

02:45:06 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 3:

molly did you quit on that app um i didn't quit on the app but i definitely did quit over text um i had switched to just work on weekends um and since i gave that notice i was very spotty on the schedule um to the point where they did schedule me for three weekends in a row i had gotten my checks mailed to me, and my boss messaged me one day and said, hey, are you going to work this weekend? And I said, well, I assumed I was fired because I hadn't been scheduled for three weeks, and I got my checks mailed to me, so I had quit, and she said, okay.

02:45:46 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 7:

What's that, Lisa, the manager?

02:45:48 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 2:

I said, yeah, that happens. We do that, too.

02:45:50 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 7:

Lisa, what's the craziest reason why somebody texts you to say they quit?

02:45:55 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 2:

um the craziest i should just they just say they quit they don't give a reason yeah they just kind of say that we're out of here exactly uh ashley what did you do

02:46:09 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 4:

ash hi i'm sorry about that uh so it actually wasn't me who did this it was my husband and it was just recently. He was a manager of a specific location, I won't say, but he left a letter in the company vehicle that he had to take home and back and forth to work. He had wrote out a long letter, explained everything, left the keys, his credit card for the company, um uh old like getting tools or anything that he had um it just dropped it off late one night when

02:46:52 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 5:

no one was in the office and just moved on and why did he have to do it that way instead of

02:46:58 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 4:

like a face-to-face or an email or phone call or whatever so um he had never left a job like that he always did things the appropriate way gave it given the two weeks and and followed through with actually um he had asked them to sit down with him and have a meeting and just talk about the reason why he was going to leave um and they just disregarded and kept saying how busy they were and they would get and he said well if they're gonna not listen and i'm just gonna do what i

02:47:31 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 7:

need to do and move on wow um did you see uh and thank you for the call by the way did you see this text i wasn't quitting through text i was fired via text how can a company fire somebody over text

02:47:45 - 02:47:55 | Speaker 5:

that's wild that they could do that i'd prefer it i know i if i i hope it too i think what would

02:47:55 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 7:

be what would be worse getting fired over text or broken up with someone well well that's sex

02:48:01 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 5:

in the city, remember?

02:48:03 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 7:

They did that. Oh, really?

02:48:05 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, that was a post-it note.

02:48:07 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 7:

The only problem with Megan is if you broke up with her or fired her over text, she wouldn't get it for, like, weeks.

02:48:13 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 5:

Wait, who'd you do that to, Megan?

02:48:14 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my last boyfriend. You wouldn't even see each other in person for 30 days before we broke up and he had a Facebook official new girlfriend two weeks later. I'm really not that upset about it.

02:48:26 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 7:

Okay. But with the way that you returned text messages from us, I would, like, assume that if you got fired via text, you'd show up, like, five or six more days later going, oh, what's going on?

02:48:39 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, if I got fired, oh, for sure, for sure. You don't ever. But I'm also under the impersonation, like, if I just keep showing up, you have to keep paying me. So, like, fire me, try, but I need the check.

02:48:48 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 7:

She's got every one of her text exchanges muted, she says.

02:48:51 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:48:52 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 7:

So they're all muted so she doesn't get bothered.

02:48:53 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 5:

Haven't you ever seen how many there are? Wait, you're acting like there's not currently 1,560 unread text messages. Unbelievable.

02:49:00 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 7:

Isn't that insane? Hold on. Lisa, you were the fired overtaxed?

02:49:05 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was.

02:49:07 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 7:

And how can a company do that? Don't say the name of the company, but what did they do?

02:49:13 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 1:

They manage properties.

02:49:15 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 7:

Oh, wow. And the tax, was it long or was it just quick?

02:49:20 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 1:

It was very quick. Just said, hey, this isn't working out. I don't even remember the end of it. Just about it's not working out. I had left my company credit card out on my desk because my computer died at work and I had to go buy a new computer so I could work. And I had left it on my desk when I left work. And he took that like I was quitting or something.

02:49:44 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 7:

Wow. It was just by accident. That's unbelievable.

02:49:47 - 02:49:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, it was in the works for a long time because I also ordered business cards for everyone with new logos except mine and didn't think I was going to notice.

02:49:54 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Jeez, that's amazing that you would take that as that you weren't coming in anymore.

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 2:

You can fire somebody over text without getting yourself into trouble.

02:50:05 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 1:

Apparently, because then he also tried to fight unemployment, and I just sent the copy of the text and got my unemployment.

02:50:11 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Amazing. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

02:50:16 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 1:

Bye-bye.

02:50:17 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 2:

All right. Megan just sent us how many unread text messages she has. She has 1,560 unread text messages.

02:50:27 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 6:

Same.

02:50:27 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Not unread emails or, you know, spam stuff in her folder. Text messages from us.

02:50:37 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 5:

Whoops. From us. From us. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:50:43 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 2:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending this hour. A lot of stuff happened over the weekend. Shannon, what you got in this hour is dirty.

02:50:48 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 6:

Well, reality star Savannah Chrisley from Chrisley Knows Best. She's the one whose parents are in jail on all sorts of fraud charges. She was thrown right off of a Southwest Airlines flight recently, and she says it was for a really stupid reason. She was trying to board a flight at New York's JFK Airport. She was on her way home to Tennessee, okay, when this airline attendant threw her off the flight after she refused to check her carry-on.

02:51:15 - 02:51:43 | Speaker 3:

So I went to board my flight, and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, okay, I'm going to, if you wouldn't mind, I'm going to take my bag on the flight, see if I can't make it fit, and if not, I'll check it. His exact words were, no, that's not happening. Okay, well, let's go ahead and put a tag on it in case I have to check it. I would love to see if there's any room for it. And he goes, you're being an unruly passenger.

02:51:44 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 6:

She was like, I officially now know why everybody hates Southwest so much.

02:51:48 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

The pilot told the Southwest attendant that he needed to calm down and that he was going to find a place for my bag. And the Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot. He looked at him and said, stay out of it. No, you're not. Ma'am, you're not flying on this flight.

02:52:05 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 6:

Now, forgive me. Yes, it sucks when they don't have any more room for any more carry-ons. Because you brought a carry-on for a reason. You don't want to wait for your luggage. But also, if they tell you there's no room, there's no room. You don't want to be the idiot that walks onto the plane, realizes there's no room after they told you that, and then you have to have everybody get out of the way while you take your bag off the flight.

02:52:28 - 02:52:35 | Speaker 4:

Am I right? More so than that, has anybody ever looked at anybody working at an airport and said, no, that's not going to happen, and it works in your favor?

02:52:36 - 02:52:41 | Speaker 5:

Like, who are you? Like, it never once worked for the flight. It has been like, oh, you're so right. We do have room.

02:52:41 - 02:53:35 | Speaker 6:

Well, and Southwest came forward to say, well, she's missing one big part of the story. She arrived very late in the boarding process, repeatedly insulted a Southwest Airlines employee. So they said, yeah, we denied her getting on board her original flight. However, she was booked on a flight later the same day. After news broke that Alec Baldwin will no longer face criminal charges in the death of Helena Hutchins, the family of the Russ cinematographer will move forward with a civil suit against him. Gloria Allred, who represents Helena's mom, dad, and sister, said on Friday that her clients remain hopeful. She said, Mr. Baldwin can run to Montana and pretend that he is just an actor in a Wild West movie, but in real life, he cannot escape from the fact that he had a major role in a tragedy, which has real-life consequences. Alec Baldwin's lawyers say their action is unlikely to survive any sort of legal scrutiny.

02:53:35 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 2:

They are still making this movie? Yeah. They moved to Montana to finish the rest?

02:53:40 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 6:

And remember, the late Helena Hutchins' husband is now an executive producer.

02:53:45 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 2:

I believe that's his role.

02:53:46 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 6:

He's a producer of some sort.

02:53:47 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 2:

Which makes me think they just paid the guy off just to kind of keep going. But they also showed, so they're making the movie in Montana, and on the day that it was announced that Alec Baldwin was not going to be charged, there is pictures that were all over TMZ and a bunch of other sites of Alec Baldwin holding a gun wrong. So he was actually holding a rifle from the front, you know, from the actual barrel and not holding it like you would hold, you know, a normal rifle. So they said that they hired this guy that is supposedly like the Hollywood's best movie guy when it comes to guns to like for protection. And yet they show him holding a gun wrong at the time that they're doing this thing. It's unbelievable.

02:54:31 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 6:

Last night, Morgan Walling fans in Mississippi were not happy. The show was canceled literally minutes before start time. Morgan's team made the announcement with an on-screen message at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium after all of the opening acts had already performed, okay? So three different opening acts. Everybody's waiting for Morgan to take the stage, and all of a sudden there's this black-and-white message that reads, Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, Morgan has lost his voice and is unable to...

02:55:00 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 3:

to perform tonight therefore tonight's show has been canceled refunds will be available at point of purchase and so people were like wait what he didn't know that as the opening acts were performing that he didn't have a voice so morgan later got on instagram and said he had spent the day resting up talking to his doctor working through vocal exercises before ultimately realizing he was still unable to sing he apologized to fans saying i promise you guys i tried everything i

02:55:26 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that seems like they were trying to just get the money for the artist.

02:55:35 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, all three opening acts performed and then all of a sudden you just.

02:55:39 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 2:

It's almost like he didn't want to pay the venue back for canceling the show. So alcohol sales and merch.

02:55:47 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, this is kind of scary. A 45 foot tall animatronic dragon caught fire at Disneyland's Tom Sawyer Island in California. It, like, exploded and erupted into this fireball of smoke during that phantasmic show at, um...

02:56:03 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 1:

Disneyland's... This is Disneyland. Yeah. California. Was it California Venture? Yes.

02:56:07 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 3:

Nope, it was California. Yeah, because the Anaheim Fire Department responded.

02:56:11 - 02:56:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:56:12 - 02:56:19 | Speaker 2:

This literally happens all the time with this animatronic. It literally, like, spews hydraulic fluid and then fireballs itself all of the time.

02:56:19 - 02:56:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because I know the Walt Disney World Resort one was having issues, too.

02:56:24 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:56:24 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 3:

The dragon. So they had to evacuate, like, 1,000 people from around Frontierland and bring in the fire department. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, but you can see videos of that and catch up on all of today's Dirty, by the way, at the Dirty page on meddlingthemorning.com.

02:56:39 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 1:

What would they do? Because when they do these things, sometimes these fire work shows and stuff like that, what do they do if, like, they light the castle on fire? Didn't they do that at one point?

02:56:51 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so things catch on fire at Disney literally all the time. And my favorite part is that they have safety plans and all that. Cool, cool, cool. Nobody listens to the cast members. Cast members will be like, please exit. And they're like, nope, got to get this for TikTok.

02:57:05 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 1:

Got to deal with the views. I don't care if we light on fire. I paid $500 for these tickets. All right, so that's the dirty. When we come back here next, more of the Mojo in the Morning show. So I want to call out somebody that you guys all know for what they're doing on social media. They are liking this hot girl in radios posts all the time and not liking my posts.

02:57:36 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, happen for a bit.

02:57:38 - 02:58:49 | Speaker 1:

And you guys know who this guy is, and I'll tell you about this more next. Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. If you're weird, crazy, sometimes stupid and clingy, you're just like us. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning Show. So, the other night I was on Instagram and Facebook and I was kind of like bored looking at, you know, what everybody's posting. and I started noticing somebody who I think you guys will know who the person is when I say this. And I mean that, I mean the people on the show, maybe some of the people too, maybe our listeners, because I think she's on in Grand Rapids. And I started noticing that there is this radio personality out of Atlanta, but is nationally heard by the name of Shelby Sauce. I love Shelby. Who is very good with her social media games.

02:58:49 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 3:

And she's adorable.

02:58:52 - 02:59:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's just put it this way. I have no idea what Shelby sounds like on the radio, but I do know that she's adorable enough for me to actually like her on social media. That I saw her social media and I'm like, oh, okay, I guess I'll follow her. and see what she's all about yeah right exactly you know i gotta keep honest there sure sure if my wife is listening right now chelsea i have to keep up with what other people in the business are doing okay it is called this is called you know uh networking so to speak let me play some of her stuff i got some stuff oh you do well in a second here do it because i want to i want to complain about somebody real quick okay so and it's not shelby no i'm not no i'm not complaining about shelby so if you do know shelby and i've never had an opportunity to ever get to meet her or talk to her at all so i know nothing about her other than where she is she's based out of atlanta well i started looking at all of her pictures and she posts a lot of these pictures that are with her like very uh attractive in the mirror uh she's got you know her lips always looking

02:59:53 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 3:

perfect she was just in a bikini where the heck did she go yeah she was she's somewhere well

02:59:58 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 1:

She's in a bikini and in a couple of. the photos she's uh one of them she was dressed like a cowboy uh in front of a mirror like she's got all these photos all right and when i was looking at these photos you notice right away who likes the photos because honestly i will not like those photos can i tell you why i won't like those photos shannon i won't like the the kind of thirsty photos because i just don't want people going mojo is an old creepy guy you know what i mean like he's an old creepy radio guy i mean

03:00:24 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 2:

That's having a lot of awareness

03:00:26 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 1:

I actually had this conversation One time with Elvis Elvis Duran And I said to him, I like only The gay male Thirsty ones I mean, I can see this photo of her

03:00:41 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 2:

How did I miss this one?

03:00:42 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 1:

Is that unbelievable? It's very crazy Now I'm lost on her Instagram

03:00:46 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 2:

Don't be lying You were in the light on that photo Oh, I already liked it

03:00:54 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 1:

I don't like it, though. I didn't like it, right? You didn't see me like it. No. Tell my wife. Tell my wife, right? I didn't like it, right? No, you didn't. But I would like to list all of the radio people that are there. Well, I'm going to list one in particular who's a very good friend of mine, actually one of my best buddies in the world. I noticed that every like that she has is from Spencer Graves, who's like a brother to me. And I started to notice, I'm like, Spencer just likes every single one of Shelby Sauce's photos. And then I thought, oh, well, maybe he's just really active on social media and likes all of our photos. So I go, let me go back to my photos. My last couple of photos that I've posted have been all about my children. All right. It's been the comparison photo of Luke when he was in kindergarten to his senior photo for high school. Jacob, his birthday. Prior to that, there was a photo that I took, like a monumental moment for me and Chelsea and our relationship. Guess how many of those photos Spencer Graves liked?

03:01:57 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 2:

How many?

03:01:58 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 1:

Zero point zero.

03:02:01 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't see you wearing a cowboy hat. No, maybe you should.

03:02:05 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 1:

So the only photos that he seems to have liked are the photos of beautiful Shelby sauce. not anything to do with his friend and brother uh from another mother uh mojo who in a second here we're going to announce something with spencer graves but first spencer i love beautiful

03:02:26 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 2:

women i well i can i can tell i can tell you like why i like i like uh shannon's pictures a ton yeah i think i think when people like i know what you're trying to do you're trying to paint me in this place like Shelby and all her you know thirst trap pictures honestly I've known Shelby for a long time she comes up in my algorithm all the time I like everybody's stuff you don't pop

03:02:53 - 03:02:58 | Speaker 1:

up in my algorithm all the time well how do I not pop up in your algorithm but yet you call me

03:02:58 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 2:

uh and we talk to each other all the time because the Instagram people don't know that you and I talk on the phone it's just when you put up content you don't put up a lot of content as yourself. You put up a lot of content as Mojo in the morning. But don't you ever

03:03:12 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 1:

search me to see what I'm doing so you can like some of my stuff? Like, just say, like,

03:03:18 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 2:

I don't seek you out. Like, I don't sit there and go, let me just go see what Mojo's up to because I'll talk to you on the phone. I don't talk to Shelby on the phone. I don't talk to Shannon on the phone. Right. This is a very, very fair statement.

03:03:30 - 03:03:33 | Speaker 1:

You're going to buy this. I do. You really do? I actually do.

03:03:33 - 03:03:35 | Speaker 2:

I do.

03:03:35 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 1:

If he cared about me.

03:03:37 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 2:

For the reason that he doesn't search out Mojo on Instagram, he just calls them.

03:03:42 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you, Spencer. It makes me feel like I need to do, like, a photo shoot or something.

03:03:47 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wait. I'll tell you right now, if you wore a cowboy hat or a bikini, hell yes.

03:03:52 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 1:

There's an idea there.

03:03:54 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 2:

I think there's a big idea here, Mike.

03:03:56 - 03:04:02 | Speaker 1:

It's unbelievable that this guy, I do know you listen to the podcast from time to time, right? You'll actually check out our podcast.

03:04:02 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because the last podcast I heard was something about Shannon's vagina, and I was like, well.

03:04:06 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 1:

oh there you go that's why we need to label all of the podcast very racy so that i could get uh spencer to to actually like it i no offense to shelby because i know that she's great i have no idea how how great she is in radio her pictures look great because i've not listened to her but this is a guy spencer who i've known for a long time who i have recommended for jobs i have you know uh stayed at my house we've uh we've you know gone to tigers games together we've you know gone on vacations together like what's the story here i am all in with you you're my boy you're the

03:04:48 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 2:

guy that i appreciate the most when it comes to radio and you've done a lot for me you don't pop up in my algorithm you don't post on social media as much as most people well i need to start a lot Bye. I do. And it's also our show post. I look at our show page. Not really. How come you don't? You only like the post. I noticed this. You only like the post that Shannon, Megan, and KP are in. You don't like any of the other ones. You have not liked one with me.

03:05:15 - 03:05:24 | Speaker 3:

I love Shannon's post because I love seeing Smith and Lucy grow up. I think those are two great kids. I think she's doing a great job.

03:05:24 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 2:

Those aren't even her kids. They're props.

03:05:25 - 03:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, thank you. That seriously means so much to me. And honestly, I celebrate women like Shelby because they're crushing it in the business. I think now more than ever, you know, women are on the front page. Like everything for women in radio is how talented are they as a personality. And the women that are in radio now, Megan included, Shannon included, everybody that's come through radio, women are so freaking talented when it comes to radio. And I celebrate that. I think it's awesome that they're able to crush it.

03:06:02 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 4:

Really? That was really nice of you. Seriously, thank you. It was very nice. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, Spencer, here's what you need to do. You need to pull like a creepo move and just go and like every single photo on Mojo's page. Please. Okay?

03:06:17 - 03:06:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, because you know what he'll do? I'll like every picture, and then he'll screenshot how many times I liked a picture, and he'll go, oh, he's just trying to make up for not liking my pictures before. This will carry on forever. I'm just telling him, Mojo, I love you. I think you're the greatest guy that I know on radio. You're a wonderful human being. You give people opportunities when they don't always expect them or need them. You are a great human being. Thank you. If you wore a cowboy hat and you wore a leg long head.

03:06:45 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Imagine if I looked.

03:06:47 - 03:06:50 | Speaker 4:

This needs to happen now. This is the third time it was mentioned in this conversation.

03:06:50 - 03:07:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm getting a cowboy hat today. Real quick, a quick announcement from Spencer. Do you want to announce to everybody here in the room? but the listeners will get to know you a little bit more, literally like my brother. If I had a brother that was in radio, this would be my brother.

03:07:04 - 03:07:18 | Speaker 3:

I can announce that I'm in Birmingham, Alabama doing a country show. Okay. And I can announce that there's talks of syndication, but I cannot announce where I'm going next. Okay.

03:07:18 - 03:07:24 | Speaker 2:

There's talks of him possibly being close to us somewhere. So there's something for you.

03:07:24 - 03:07:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm a big fan of the mud hens.

03:07:28 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh. I was like waiting for Megan's reaction.

03:07:32 - 03:07:35 | Speaker 3:

I was like, what are the money? It's not Toledo.

03:07:35 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 2:

It has nothing to do with it. There's talks of him possibly being on a Detroit radio station. Not ours.

03:07:41 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

03:07:42 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 2:

But that's good for you. Yes. Awesome.

03:07:44 - 03:07:49 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations. 9-5-5, and I start at 6 o'clock in the morning.

03:07:50 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 2:

Listen, with the way things are going, that might happen. You never know. Please don't even say that. Don't even do that kind of a joke.

03:07:57 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 3:

All the way pictures and lingerie, it's all coming to Detroit, baby.

03:08:00 - 03:08:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll talk to you later, Spencer. All right, love you guys. Bye, Spencer, thank you. Thank you so much. See ya. Oh, my God. You know, it's like my sister, too, though, my sister, Pat. My sister, Pat, loves all of the other radio people that I follow and I'm friends with stuff all the time, too. And I told her, I said, you're my sister, not their sister.

03:08:19 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 4:

She's so proud of you, though. You know that.

03:08:21 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 2:

I know she is. But I told her, I said, don't like any Spencer stuff anymore.

03:08:27 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 1:

W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S, Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

03:08:49 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 2:

We've got some very, very good news to share with our Mojo in the Morning listeners that were checking us out on Friday. something that was brought up Friday morning during the show that I've actually had a couple of people come and ask me about to say, hey, can you give me an update on this? And it was all about Shannon and you losing the sentimental bracelet, the bracelet that was purchased, the very first thing that Shannon got from her fiancé, Wes, when you guys started dating.

03:09:25 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 4:

you lost it word every single day until you lost it until i lost it yeah and i was super super upset just obviously because it is really super special to me and um i was so bummed and i couldn't figure out where i had lost it i looked everywhere for it we we talked on the air about praying to saint anthony who is the patron saint of what helping i don't know what he is of finding

03:09:51 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 2:

shouldn't you know what he's the patron saint of you know what ever since i was really little

03:09:55 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

my grandma just always said you pray to saint anthony and you never knew why something

03:10:00 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 2:

So I don't know what he's the patron saint is. Anyway, I've been... Patron saint of finding lost items. Yes. I was right. Okay.

03:10:04 - 03:10:34 | Speaker 1:

Which, by the way, if I was going to be a patron saint, what would I be the patron saint of, Lydia? I would like to know, because Lydia is a very good Catholic girl. She goes to Bible study, and she behaves herself unless she's hanging out with KP, and then she's not behaving herself. What would I be the patron saint of? Would I be the patron saint of something good? So there's only one job that doesn't have a patron saint, and that's actually the patron saint of broadcasting. Oh, my God. I love it. I am the patron saint of broadcasting.

03:10:34 - 03:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Found your purpose here on Earth.

03:10:36 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 1:

Actually, I want to be the patron saint of something like going to the bathroom or something like that. Of naps.

03:10:41 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 2:

Of naps. That would be a good one. How dare you? How dare you?

03:10:45 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 1:

That's actually Saint Stenslauska or something like that. They always have these different saints and stuff. All right. I'm sorry. Go back to your thing So you prayed to St. Anthony

03:10:55 - 03:11:58 | Speaker 2:

And I have to tell you something Because look how teeny tiny it is Now that Oh you have it I found it Oh that's great I found it I thought this thing was gone for good And I was so upset about it But over the weekend Actually was it yesterday I have like this trash bin in my kitchen That you pull out right And then it has like the plastic bin in it And so I took one I took the bag of Like the full bag of trash, tied it up, pulled it out. And then I always put like extra trash bags at the bottom of my bin so I don't have to go under the sink and get more trash bags. Like they're right there. I'm kind of lazy that way. Lazy or smart. I don't know what you would call me. But I went down to grab one of the new, fresh, empty trash bags to put on. And I saw something right next to the empty trash bag. And I was like, what the heck is that? So I bent down into my trash can And lo and behold It was my bracelet I still can't believe it So I was so happy Wes was so happy too That I found it

03:11:58 - 03:12:02 | Speaker 1:

I still have doubts though Don't you Mike?

03:12:02 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 2:

Why do you have doubts about this story?

03:12:05 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 1:

You're mentioning the size of the bracelet How teeny tiny it was? Yeah

03:12:08 - 03:12:11 | Speaker 2:

It's very like It's just like this little gold chain

03:12:11 - 03:12:53 | Speaker 1:

But if it was like a diamond or something You see the rock on her finger That's not teeny tiny No, not at all Wes, first off, if Wes would have bought her a bigger bracelet, he would not have been able to afford the ginormous rock that's on her finger. But no, that's nice. It's very sweet that you found it, and you found it probably where a lot of people have also said. A lot of people were telling us, look in places where you go quickly to go do things. Like clothes hampers was one of them. Somebody actually said a garbage can on Friday. They said, look in the garbage can because that's usually, you know, where you quickly like go take a bag out or change a bag and stuff like that.

03:12:53 - 03:12:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know how the heck it came off. That's what I'm worried about is that something's loose and it's going to happen again.

03:12:57 - 03:14:02 | Speaker 1:

But I found it. You know what? It's wild. I talk, you know, about praying to St. Anthony and stuff like that. And then there's the other saint where you're supposed to put like the statue upside down in your yard to help sell your house or something. And I will tell you, then there's people that, you know, I understandably, you know, they don't believe in this whole thing. I met a guy the other day, this is no joke, trying to sell his house, and he's trying, the housing sales have not been as great lately, I guess. And a guy who told me that he put a statue in his front yard, and he told me, he goes, I haven't been to church at all in my entire life. The guy was an atheist, and he said, if this works, he's going to church. He just needs to sell this house so bad He's like right now faced with Trying to you know get some financials from it And I said to him I go that's kind of interesting You know what I mean It's like me with psychics I'm not a big believer in psychics But if I go to a psychic and a psychic tells me That I've got a good future ahead of me I start liking psychics I only believe that psychics just say good things

03:14:02 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah patron saints to me are like Pokemon Like you gotta catch them all Like there's one for everybody

03:14:07 - 03:14:16 | Speaker 1:

Hold on Megan we found what I would be the patron saint of if i was going to be ever uh told by the pope that i'm going to be a saint i'd be the

03:14:16 - 03:14:34 | Speaker 2:

patron saint of what karen oh you had a great one this morning buddy that was impressive thank you thank you very you said congratulations i'm signing oh thanks thanks thanks you said um people were saying earlier that it was not classy and look now you could be a saint of it

03:14:34 - 03:14:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, when have I ever been classy? Honestly, Karen. When has that ever happened? Even when I go to weddings?

03:14:42 - 03:14:45 | Speaker 2:

I don't think there was a moment in like 2020 that you were classy.

03:14:47 - 03:15:05 | Speaker 1:

But even in those moments where I have actually had, you know, like weddings and things like that, where I dress up in a suit, I'm definitely not classy in my suit because my suit pants are falling. down and it's just a just a bad look on my part so um thank you karen i appreciate you so much

03:15:05 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 5:

for calling have a great day bye-bye you know it's funny i posted on my instagram story yesterday that i found it and i got so many messages from people who found things what blows my mind is they lose something and then years later it randomly turns up and they find it in like the the oddest of places you know i was lucky it was only a week or so but what happens in the case

03:15:26 - 03:15:37 | Speaker 1:

where you lose something that is of value. You call your insurance company if you have it. Oh, yeah. I'm talking about value value. You call your insurance company, you make a claim, and then you find it.

03:15:38 - 03:15:45 | Speaker 5:

Do you keep it? That's actually a good question. I don't know. Really? This is not a bracelet that's covered by insurance or anything like that, so I don't know.

03:15:46 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 1:

Because in that case, I would be afraid that I'd be bad karma against me.

03:15:51 - 03:15:54 | Speaker 5:

No, it's good karma. What do you do?

03:15:54 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Has that ever happened to anybody? Ann, what's up?

03:15:57 - 03:16:34 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Shannon, I just wanted to let you know that I came to work one day, and the center of my engagement ring, the diamond was missing. And somebody asked me, where's your diamond at? And I'm like, oh, my God. So my dog was a puppy at the time, so for sure my dog ate it. Oh, yeah. So for a week, my husband sifted through her poop, literally, looking for my diamond. So after almost two weeks Retracing my steps Everything I opened a Cheerios box And my diamond was in the bottom of the box What? No way, Ann

03:16:34 - 03:16:35 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing

03:16:35 - 03:16:48 | Speaker 2:

Thank God you didn't eat it Well, it was underneath the bag Oh, okay When I was turning the bag down It must have fell into the box That's, I think, exactly what happened to me

03:16:48 - 03:16:49 | Speaker 5:

But just in the trash can

03:16:49 - 03:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Right, right so i was like oh my god is that it is that it my husband's like don't drop it yeah that is that is

03:16:57 - 03:17:02 | Speaker 1:

luck man that is good luck yeah would you have made a claim in your insurance did you have it

03:17:02 - 03:17:24 | Speaker 2:

covered by your insurance i didn't have it covered at that time right so i was like we're just gonna have to you know i had my rings my rings are soldered together so i was like i'll just unsolder them until we can get a new diamond and just deal with it but retracing all my steps i'm like well I, you know, I do Cheerios every morning, and there it was. That's crazy.

03:17:24 - 03:17:30 | Speaker 1:

How much do you love that guy that you're married to that he would sift through your dog's duty to try to find?

03:17:30 - 03:17:32 | Speaker 2:

I hope he's listening right now because he'd be like, oh, my God.

03:17:33 - 03:17:36 | Speaker 1:

What a guy. What's up, Mojo in the Morning? How you doing, Patty?

03:17:37 - 03:17:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm good.

03:17:40 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 1:

How are you doing? What's going on?

03:17:43 - 03:17:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hold on.

03:17:44 - 03:17:46 | Speaker 1:

Your phone crap for a second. Patty.

03:17:48 - 03:17:49 | Speaker 3:

I lost.

03:17:49 - 03:17:49 | Speaker 1:

Patty.

03:17:50 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 3:

I bought a car. Patty.

03:17:53 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 1:

Patty.

03:17:55 - 03:17:56 | Speaker 5:

Can you hear me?

03:17:56 - 03:18:04 | Speaker 1:

That's so much better. That's better. I don't know what happened. You were in either a bad cell area or you were garbling the phone. Say everything all over again. What happened?

03:18:05 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Long time listener. First time caller. So I bought a car. Oh, no. Again? All right.

03:18:13 - 03:18:19 | Speaker 1:

Wait. Again? No, I got you, Patty. No, that was just me. That was me hitting the air horn. Go ahead, Patty.

03:18:19 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 4:

Okay, let me get you off the radio here. All right, you just take your time, Patty. This is not good radio. This is why I've never called before.

03:18:31 - 03:18:34 | Speaker 1:

It's all right. Oh, you got it, Patty. Come on, Patty. Patty.

03:18:34 - 03:18:36 | Speaker 3:

Patty. Patty. Patty.

03:18:37 - 03:19:35 | Speaker 4:

All right, so I bought a pair of diamond man-made earrings. They were expensive, not, you know, thousands of dollars, but they were close to a thousand and I lost them could not find them anywhere and I ordered these handmade which I thought were going to be huge carved bears take to my cottage and when I got them they were like three inches tall and I threw them in a bag and I was so upset a year fast forward a year later and I take them up to the cottage and I had the bag and they were just literally in a big bag and my daughter reaches into the bag and she goes oh my god these are horrible you're i'm throwing them out and then she goes oh wow mom do you lose these and there she pulls out two diamond earrings on the diamond that were on the bottom of the bag

03:19:35 - 03:19:41 | Speaker 1:

wow a year later yeah you think they're goners it's like better than a cracker jack gift that

03:19:41 - 03:19:48 | Speaker 4:

I was so excited But the worst is I went back and bought another pair Because I thought I lost

03:19:48 - 03:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh darn You kept them right You kept everything

03:19:54 - 03:19:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah now I have two pairs

03:19:56 - 03:19:57 | Speaker 1:

Good for you

03:19:57 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Well since you

03:20:00 - 03:20:05 | Speaker 1:

have two pair and you don't need them, maybe you could send them our way.

03:20:07 - 03:20:10 | Speaker 2:

No way. My daughter already claims the kids on them.

03:20:11 - 03:20:13 | Speaker 1:

Patty, you call more often.

03:20:14 - 03:20:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love you guys.

03:20:18 - 03:22:29 | Speaker 1:

I only have time for a couple of stories and then we're out of here for today. I didn't realize what the time was. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have done. Trending news today. Okay, you talked about the Lions players that are suspended. So just to give you an update, the NFL draft is this week. Many people are wondering, will this change who the Lions decide to draft? Now seeing that they've got a lot of holes to fill with a couple wide receivers, including Jamison Williams, who was one of their first-round picks last year, being out for at least six games, although he is appealing it today. And then the Quintez Cephas and safety C.J. Moore being out indefinitely, they waive them. So be interesting. Thursday is the NFL draft. It kicks off on Thursday. You have such a great opportunity. Just sit back and do nothing. Just do nothing. I wonder if the Lions will try to get Williams to pay back some of the money from this. because I know he was injured and they drafted him knowing he was injured going into last season, injured in college, and then he didn't play until like the end of the season. But I wonder if they would do that to him, asking him for the money back or because it would probably leave a bitter feeling in him, you know, when he does come back and finally play. Tomorrow is going to be a big day. Tomorrow they say that officially President Biden will announce his re-election campaign for 2024. He's been kind of coy when asked about whether or not he's going to run again. Will he run for a re-election? And this comes on the heels of a new poll that just came out over the weekend that says that 70% of Americans, both Democrats and Republicans, think that President Biden is too old and don't want him to run. Only 39% approve of President Biden's job that he's been doing so far. That's this month's survey. last month his poll numbers were at 42% so it's actually gone down. What do you guys think? Too old to run or not? Because a lot of people are saying

03:22:29 - 03:22:33 | Speaker 2:

We have a minimum age in this country, but there's not a maximum age written, correct?

03:22:34 - 03:22:37 | Speaker 1:

I think we should get rid of the minimum age. I think that the minimum age is too old.

03:22:37 - 03:22:38 | Speaker 2:

What is it, 34, 32?

03:22:39 - 03:22:46 | Speaker 1:

No, it's like, isn't it higher than that? I don't know. Is it 35? I thought it was like, yeah, low to mid

03:22:46 - 03:22:58 | Speaker 4:

But I agree with you. I think if you're 18 and you want to you can vote, but you can't run for that office like, yeah, I think we should stop having a popularity contest to have somebody run our government or run our country.

03:22:59 - 03:23:08 | Speaker 1:

So here's the thing. If Biden wins, he's already the oldest serving president. He would be 86 when he finishes his second term. Wow.

03:23:09 - 03:23:16 | Speaker 3:

It's not even like a I mean, it's both sides. Everybody's so old. It's crazy.

03:23:16 - 03:24:20 | Speaker 1:

Americans feel exhausted about the prospects of the 2024 election if the election is between Trump and Biden. According to a poll, most Americans use the word exhausted. Other people say fear. A lot of people say sadness when it comes to this. If those are the two choices for the possibility to be the next president of the United States. Bed Bath & Beyond. Shannon mentioned this earlier this morning it's worth repeating the store has filed chapter 11 protection i know that we've talked before about them closing stores now they're gonna close every one of their stores and uh the word is that within like the next days it will be pretty much a done deal unless they can find somebody to take over bed bath and beyond right there are ways that you can return items that you've already purchased but there's also ways if you did a registry for your wedding that you can continue to do it and they'll do online purchases for that uh where do people register now target's probably the most common right target you can do yeah well amazon you can do

03:24:20 - 03:24:32 | Speaker 2:

when you do amazon it's kind of cool like because they can pull from all different places and just kind of you know consolidate it into one registry speaking of target there's a couple of upskirt

03:24:32 - 03:24:45 | Speaker 1:

stories that i want to talk about one is a target the other one is in the happiest place on uh on earth target store employee arrested for taking upskirt photos of a female shopper at a naples

03:24:45 - 03:24:51 | Speaker 4:

florida target location are you counting 9-1-1 what's the address of your emergency yes i am in

03:24:51 - 03:24:57 | Speaker 3:

target and someone was in working in here and then targeting high and they were taking a picture

03:24:57 - 03:25:29 | Speaker 2:

on me that phone call sparked a slew of We'll be right back.

03:25:00 - 03:25:41 | Speaker 1:

charges against Jeremy Caraballo after one woman reported he took pictures of her dress at Target on Pine Ridge Road, another shopper came forward. I have a teenager daughter that she came a lot here too, so yeah, really, really scared. The Collier County Sheriff's Office says the first woman was shopping at Target on Saturday, April 15th, with three young children. She said she noticed Caraballo closely following her around the store. Deputies later watched security video, which they say showed Caravaggio pretending to scan items while he took pictures of her dress. If that happened to my mom, I would not be too happy with that. Two days later, deputies say he did it again to

03:25:41 - 03:25:47 | Speaker 2:

another woman. I mean, that's just so wrong. You can't be taking photos of women without their

03:25:47 - 03:25:53 | Speaker 1:

consent. And two days after that, investigators say he stole a Samsung Galaxy tablet from the

03:25:53 - 03:26:58 | Speaker 4:

store oh man um okay so here's what ended up happening with him the employee was fired for taking the photos and stealing the tablet now being brought up on charges for the upskirts and what took place the happiest place on earth a disney walt disney cast member took upskirts of women for the last six years if you've traveled to disney you got to be aware of this because they said that they found the videos in his home and they said that he was using them for sexual gratification the guy's name is uh diaz i believe his last name is diaz he was working at the uh antique store a retail shop outside of star wars galaxy edge at disney world's hollywood studios he filmed an 18 year old woman wearing a black dress in a black shorts underneath who was shopping for lightsabers with her fiance when another cast member noticed what was going on and then reported it and then they went and did investigation and they found that he had countless photos.

03:26:58 - 03:27:26 | Speaker 3:

So, obviously this is very upsetting and invasive and just wrong. It makes me uncomfortable. My question is, and I'm not trying to be funny here, what are, like, why that, like, you're gonna, you're not getting much. You're not seeing much. I don't understand why so, we hear so many stories of people doing this upskirting. So, it's like you're either gonna see shorts, underwear, thighs touching, like, Like, I really, truly don't understand why people do this. Isn't it a power thing?

03:27:27 - 03:27:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, they say that this guy was...

03:27:28 - 03:27:29 | Speaker 3:

It's just so strange to me.

03:27:29 - 03:27:33 | Speaker 4:

They say this guy was already seeking help for sexual issues.

03:27:33 - 03:27:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:27:33 - 03:27:45 | Speaker 4:

So he was already seeing... So there's obviously something going on more so than that. That you're getting from that. But yeah, I mean, it probably is a power thing. Remember at the malls, there was like talk about the malls where the guys would...

03:27:45 - 03:27:47 | Speaker 3:

On the escalators and stuff, right.

03:27:47 - 03:28:33 | Speaker 4:

And another reason why I'd rather just be fat, a side effect of that weight loss shot, Ozempic, has now come out. The popular Ozempic, Wagovi shot. The side effect that now people are starting to run into after taking it for some time and losing a bunch of weight. Women, they say, are losing their hair in mass quantities. Apparently hair loss is a side effect Associated with a significant weight loss Product But here's the interesting thing They always say that bad nutrition Helps you lose hair And a lot of these women and men Who are taking it probably aren't getting enough Nutrition in their system See that's how you beat the game then

03:28:33 - 03:28:34 | Speaker 3:

You already lose your hair

03:28:34 - 03:28:59 | Speaker 4:

And then you can lose as much weight as you want I have actually come to the conclusion In my life that I like my hair Like that's the only thing good on my entire body Like if you guys You know want to know The rest of my body sucks Like I really don't have good fingers I've got horrible you know fat toes My feet are flat My belly is I got no ass I got a small wee wee

03:28:59 - 03:29:00 | Speaker 3:

But you got your hair

03:29:00 - 03:29:30 | Speaker 4:

My fingers are like kind of honestly Gotten kind of pudgy And ugly looking over time You like my fingers? I don't dislike your fingers I've never looked at any of you when I dislike any of it, but especially your fingers. I don't know why that one stuck out to me. That's very nice of you. But my hair has actually been the only thing that I've been relatively happy about. And my teeth. I got okay teeth. And they are my teeth. Nice, pearly white teeth. Thank you. All right. That does it for today, guys. Are we ready to leave?

03:29:30 - 03:29:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm so conscious of my fingers. Is everybody looking at their fingers right now? Yeah.

03:29:36 - 03:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Like, what's wrong with your fingers? I've got bratwurst fingers. They look like bratwurst because they're always so much whiter than the rest of my body. Have a great day.
